DayZ 1.40 patch notes: M79 Launcher change, and Plastic Explosives reworked Bohemia InteractiveThe DayZ 1.40 update addresses a long list of bugs for console and PC players and makes adjustments for the M79 Launcher, and issues with Plastic Explosives. The zombie survival game DayZ has always maintained a decent following, but Twitch streamers such as xQc are currently giving the game a big boost in popularity on Twitch. Players in DayZ take on the role of a survivor with the simple goal of trying to survive as long as possible in a zombie-infested world. DayZ’s 1.40 hotfix patch most notably makes a change to the M79 Launcher so it can no longer jam. The update also addresses several different Plastic Explosive bugs and fixes server-crash issues. The developers had to delay the patch a few hours because of some launch issues, but the update eventually reached players on consoles and PC. The full patch notes can be found below.
