CDL 2024 rostermania: All team changes & rumors Call of Duty LeagueThe second major of the CDL has officially concluded, and with it comes a new wave of roster moves for teams who weren’t able to perform up to expectations. Below are the current rosters and rumors as CDL 2024 rostermania heats up once again. Since New York Subliners’ win at CDL Champs 2023, the league already looks drastically different just a few months later. London packed its bags and shocked the CDL community by relocating its franchise to Charlotte. In other relocation news, the Miami Heretics took over Florida’s CDL spot, though they haven’t found too much success just yet. Though the CDL Rostermania was thought to be all but over once the free agency period ended last year, things have really kicked into gear now that Major 2 has wrapped up. With some teams falling far below where they expected to finish, orgs are scrambling to switch things up on their rosters and try to find success in the later half of their season. Here are the latest CDL moves: Contents CDL Rostermania returns after Major 2 – Call of Duty League teams & rosters – CDL rostermania changes and rumors – CDL Rostermania returns after Major 2 On July 3, 2023, the new season, and thus free agency, officially started, meaning organizations could enter into negotiations with players, and contracts could start to be signed. However, rostermania has once again been kicked up in the aftermath of CDL Major 2, with a number of teams rumored to be swapping out players after their failed runs at the event. CDL 2024 teams Here is what the teams currently look like. There are a number of teams projected to switching up their rosters after Major 2, so this list is subject to change. An * indicates roster moves that haven’t been locked in just yet. What are the rumors for CDL rostermania? Here are the reports so far, separated between changes that have been made through the 2024 season and ones that were made during the pre-season: Mid-Season Rostermania March 28: 04 set to replace Arcitys on Seattle Surge – Minnesota Rokkr set to release Owakening, but his replacement isn’t yet clear. Dak is the most likely candidate at this time. – March 27: Though he’s still technically signed with LA Thieves, Afro is set to head back to Europe with Team WaR, replacing Denza on that roster. – March 26: LA Thieves bench Afro, bringing JoeDeceives back to the main roster. – March 25: Miami Heretics drop JurNii. – Pre-Season Rostermania September 1: LA Thieves announces roster of Ghosty, Afro, Cammy, JoeDeceives – August 31: Minnesota Rokkr announces roster of Lynz, Owakening, Vivid, Accuracy – August 24: Florida Mutineers is replaced by Miami Heretics.
