The last time the Green Wall won a ring was at the 2017 CoD World League Championship back with their legendary Scump-led squad. In their campaign for their 2024 rings, OpTic made a relatively dominant upper-bracket run. They beat LA Guerillas in the first round, which pitted them against a young LA Thieves who were looking to make a deep run. They beat them in a close 3-2, and would go on to beat the Major 4 winners, New York Subliners, in the Upper-Bracket final in yet another close 3-2. Subliners would go on to have a shot at revenge and a back-to-back championship, however, OpTic – backed by their home crowd – won when it mattered most with a dominant 5-1 performance in the Grand FInals. Shotzzy was the tournament MVP while Pred made history as the first APAC player to win a ring.
