Alinity explains why she doesn’t believe BruceDropEmOff’s reason for leaving OTK Twitch: Alinity, BruceDropEmOffTwitch star Alinity expressed some doubts about BruceDropEmOff’s reasons for parting ways with OTK after the streamer suddenly left the organization. Popular Twitch streamer BruceDropEmOff first joined entertainment group OTK (short for ‘One True King’) in March 2022 to much fanfare and excitement from viewers. Less than a year later, though, Bruce suddenly split with the group, announcing his departure in a tweet that instantly went viral on January 24. Theories abounded as to why Bruce unceremoniously left the organization, with some guessing that it had to do with the controversy surrounding OTK streamer Mizkif, who was accused of covering up a sexual assault last year. Since then, Mizkif had been removed from the group’s board of directors and had returned to streaming for some time — but Bruce claimed he left for other reasons. “The reason I left is because I didn’t want to be seen as the Black person that was gonna carry them to the triumph and hold the sword and take all the heat, looking bad,” he said in a live stream following his departure. That’s not all; he had some harsh words for Mizkif, as well, lashing out at his former coworker in a heated rant where he claimed he “should have left when your b*tch a** got exposed.” However, fellow Twitch streamer Alinity isn’t convinced that Bruce’s explanation is the real reason why he cut ties with OTK. Alinity doesn’t believe BruceDropEmOff’s explanation for leaving OTK She gave her thoughts on the subject in a January 25 stream, citing a friendly broadcast that Bruce and Mizkif had shared just prior to his departure from the team. “I actually don’t think it’s that,” she began. “Because if that was his reasoning, he would have probably felt that a long time ago, right? Like what changed between the stream he did with Miz, where they were really happy and having a good time, to yesterday when he quit?” “I think it had to do with whatever his community’s response to him hanging out with Mizkif was. I will die on my words, and I really believe that’s what it was.” Bruce did mention his community disliking Mizkif during his most recent statement about the streamer after leaving OTK, likely referencing leaked texts that showed Miz using racial slurs — but for now, that’s all we know.

Alinity explains why she just can’t win after dog drama – Dexerto
Alinity explains why she just can’t win after dog drama Twitch streamer Alinity Divine has revealed that she understands why people hate her as she finds herself embroiled in another controversy over the way she treats her pets, claiming that her actions do not have “malicious intent.” Alinity is a divisive figure on the Amazon-owned streaming platform and came under intense scrutiny back in July when a clip went viral of her tossing one of her cats over her shoulder, and spitting vodka into the mouth of another. Now Alinity faces further criticism as video clips of her dog pushing its nose into her groin on multiple occasions go viral, leaving many — including PETA — to call for her permanent suspension from Twitch. With the Colombian again facing questions over her behavior, during her December 5 stream, Alinity explained how she feels she couldn’t win in that scenario, claiming that if she had been forceful in trying to push it away, she would have been called out for abusing her pet. “It really sucks, because I was thinking about the whole dog ‘butt-sniffing’ thing, if I had pushed her off with my foot, if I had pushed her hard, people would have been been like ‘animal abuse!’” “If I don’t push her hard, it’s ‘Oh my God, she f**ks her dog!’ There’s no good or bad I can do. What can I do? It’s like if I do one it’s bad, I do the other it’s bad, I can’t do anything!” Alinity also admitted that she understands why people may hate her, but that she has never had any intention of placing her pets in situations that would cause them harm. “It sucks because I just want people to know who I am,” she stated. “I don’t take offence about the fact that people think bad things about me and the fact that people hate me, like I understand why people hate me because they have this idea that I am a bad person and that I’ve done all those horrible things that people keep saying about me that I haven’t done.” “So just come here, chill with me, get to know me and then maybe you’ll get to see that I’m a cool person. I just want to share my love with the world. I’m not perfect, and I made a sh*tload of mistakes, but there’s no malicious intent in any of the mistakes I made. I didn’t go ‘Oh my God, I want to hurt my animal by letting her lick something out of my mouth.” Despite calls from many for Twitch to take action against Alinity, her channel remains active, and it appears unlikely that she will receive any punishment for the clips that spread across social media. Alinity herself believes the scandal is “ridiculous,” stating that people have gone “way too far” in her opinion.

Alinity explains why sexual content on Twitch won’t stop despite Amouranth & Indiefoxx bans – Dexerto
Alinity explains why sexual content on Twitch won’t stop despite Amouranth & Indiefoxx bans Twitch/Alinity/Instagram/Indiefoxx/AmouranthStreamer Natalia ‘Alinity’ Mogollon doesn’t believe that sexual content on Twitch will stop anytime soon, despite the fact Amouranth and Indiefoxx were handed three-day bans after their controversial ASMR streams. Twitch has come under a lot of fire as of late with streamers being accused of abusing the platform to promote sexualized content in the form of hot tub streams, and more recently, the ASMR earlicking meta. While the Amazon-owned platform tried to deal with the hot tub meta and the effect it was having on advertising by relegating the streams to their own new category, many believe this wasn’t enough and just enticed streamers to find something new. Even after both Amouranth and Indiefoxx, two of the more prominent ASMR streamers, were banned for three days, Alinity doesn’t believe that this will do enough to deter sexual content in the slightest. Taking to Twitter, the Colombian-Canadian stressed that the punishment for sexual content and behavior just isn’t enough and the bans may draw more attention to those broadcasts. “As someone that had an accidental violation for sexual content, I can tell you that the amount of advertising you get from said suspension highly outweighs the lack of income from a three-day ban,” she wrote, referencing her infamous wardrobe malfunction from 2020. “It’s just a nice vacation,” she added. “Free promo during your break and even more promo when you are back.” Listen, I’m not saying whether I am in favor or against that content being on the site. What I am saying is that they need to decide whether or not they want the content on Twitch, and be FIRM against it. 3 DMCAS is a perma ban, but 3 sexual violations isn’t? Makes no sense.— Alinity (@Alinity) June 22, 2021 This all said, Alinity isn’t exactly against this type of content being on Twitch to begin with, having partaken in hot tub streams herself. However, she finds Twitch’s lack of a stance and limited transparency certainly troublesome. “Listen, I’m not saying whether I am in favor or against that content being on the site. What I am saying is that they need to decide whether or not they want the content on Twitch, and be FIRM against it,” she continued. “3 DMCAS is a perma ban, but 3 sexual violations isn’t? Makes no sense.” She further stated that month-long suspensions following a third strike could be enough of a punishment to significantly deter sexual content on Twitch. After the 3rd strike, a month suspension seems like it would deter it from happening. — Alinity (@Alinity) June 22, 2021 It remains to be seen what Twitch’s position is and if they even have one in regards to the ASMR meta. Twitch has yet to make an official statement and it’s unclear if something unique within Indiefoxx or Amouranth’s streams resulted in their bans or if the site took aim at the ASMR meta directly. Considering Twitch does not comment on individual bans, it’s unlikely we get answers anytime soon unless there is a formal announcement and a serious crackdown from the company.

Alinity explains why her pets are never on Twitch streams anymore – Dexerto
Alinity explains why her pets are never on Twitch streams anymore Twitch: AlinityViewers of Twitch streamer Alinity have noticed the absence of her many pets during streams, prompting the content creator provide an explanation on their whereabouts. Natalia ‘Alinity’ Mogollon cut her teeth in streaming with World of Warcraft and Apex Legends, growing a loyal fanbase along the way. Over the years, viewers have become accustomed to seeing Alinity’s pets on stream and learning more about the streamer’s personal life. Now, after viewers have begun to wonder where her pets have disappeared too, the streamer has released a statement clarifying the situation. Alinity is relocating from Saskatchewan Addressing her followers directly, Alinity posted a statement to her Twitter feed on December 19. “Many of you have been wondering what’s going on with my pets, and why they aren’t with me in Texas,” Alinity initially stated to her followers. The streamer revealed that her pets are in safe hands currently, as she said “they are in my house, in Saskatchewan, with my main mod who lived with me for the past 4 years.” Due to the size of her house and rules put in place by her landlord, it has made caring for pets immensely difficult: “No landlord will allow for 2 Samoyeds to run around their home. These are very high-energy dogs that will absolutely scratch floors and damage the house. So until I purchase I home, the likelihood of being able to live with them is small.” “Right now, and for my mental health, I believe that relocating out of Saskatchewan is something I must do,” Alinity explained, as she hopes to find a more permanent solution for reuniting with her pets in the future. However, in the meantime her pets will remain with her trusted mod, adding that “they are happy, being taken care of by someone that they have known their entire lives, who they are also very attached to.”

Alinity explains viral cat bite fiasco with compilation video – Dexerto
Alinity explains viral cat bite fiasco with compilation video Alinity, YouTubeTwitch star Alinity Divine was part of yet another viral internet moment when her pet cat bit her arm during a live stream — but it seems that she has finally explained the painful scenario with a compilation video of similar moments. Alinity was the talk of the social media world during the summer of 2019 after she tossed her cat Milo over her head during a game of Apex Legends. After previous footage was discovered of the streamer also feeding her cat vodka, the Saskatoon SPCA stepped in, but ultimately ruled that she had “no malicious intent” and had “expressed remorse” regarding the viral incident. However, further drama arose months later, after her cat Maya seemed to enact its “revenge” on the star by biting her arm while she was singing for the camera, appearing to be annoyed by the loud noise. While many critics speculated that the cat may have been reacting out of fear, Alinity has seemed to respond to the online outrage with a compilation video of other such interactions with her pet feline. Her March 10 video, titled, “Maya HATES when I sing!! She a sweetheart tho,” features a number of moments where Maya seems to react to Alinity’s singing by biting her forearm or her leg, interspersed with clips of the broadcaster snuggling and kissing the animal. “Is my singing that bad?” she wrote in the video’s description. “C’mon Maya, none of the other cats seem to mind. Milo is cool about it, Nova doesn’t mind. It’s just my beautiful voice!” Thus far, Alinity’s video has been met with mixed reviews from critics and fans alike — but it does seem that Maya’s biting is a regular occurrence, especially when its owner is belting out the tunes during Twitch Sings broadcasts. Considering Maya’s seemingly indignant chase-down of her owner after her viral March 6 bite, where she followed Alinity as she retreated in her gaming chair, it comes as little surprise that the streamer “promised” her pet she’d stop singing — although it would appear that the two have a much better relationship when she’s not putting her vocal talent on display.

Alinity explains why she has to wear a neck brace – Dexerto
Alinity explains why she has to wear a neck brace Twitch star Alinity Divine began her December 18 stream with a neck brace on much to the shock of her viewers. The Columbian Canadian began by telling her fans not to be worried and that she was “not going to die,” but was suffering from neck issues that required a brace to help fix. “It’s nothing bad,” the Just Chatting streamer insured her viewers. “Don’t worry about it. I’ll be fine.” She explained that she had injured some of her neck muscles and her doctor recommended complete rest. However, if she was going to be on the computer, she would require something to support her neck up so she didn’t further injure her muscles. Alinity said that while she didn’t know exactly how the injury occurred, there were a series of events that led up to it. “It was a series of things,” she began. “Not sleeping properly, not sitting good in my chair… it’s a combination of stress and hormones and my muscles are spasming out of control in my neck and upper back.” The Twitch icon then revealed that an incident with her dog also helped cause the injury, though she didn’t go into too much detail. Read More: Twitch streamer eats cat food for donations – “I was playing with my dog and I did something that I shouldn’t have done,” Divine added. Alinity has had a history of controversial on-stream incidents with her pets. Back in July of 2019, the Saskatchewan-based streamer was under investigation by the Saskatoon Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals after she appeared to throw her cat during an Apex Legends match. The SPCA would later find that there was “no malicious intent” regarding the incident. Additionally, PETA demanded by Alinity be banned by Twitch after a viral incident in which her dog poked around her groin as she attempted a yoga pose. According to the streaming sensation, she has to wear the brace until Friday, December 20.

Alinity explains “scary” incident that made her afraid of horses in Amouranth stream – Dexerto
Alinity explains “scary” incident that made her afraid of horses in Amouranth stream Alinity / AmouranthAlinity explained her fear of horses during a live stream with fellow content creator Amouranth, claiming she had a “scary” encounter with one as a child. Natalia ‘Alinity’ Mogollon has been a big name on platforms like Twitch and OnlyFans for some time, capitalizing on major trends like hot tub and ASMR streams. As of late, she’s been creating content with other fellow influencers and content creators Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa and Matthew ‘Mizkif’ Rinaudo while she’s unable to stream. Now, during a hot tub stream with Amouranth, Alinity took time to explain a “scary” incident she had horseback riding as a child that caused her lifelong fear of horses. Alinity explains fear of horses The streamer explained the traumatic experience on a recent hot tub stream collab after Amouranth brought up the topic of horseback riding. Alinity said when she was taking horse riding lessons as a child, she apparently lost control of the horse she was riding as it “took off with her” still in the saddle. She recalls that during the incident, she thankfully didn’t fall off the horse, but was forced to “grab onto something and jump off.” While Alinity was able to escape the ordeal without any serious injuries, she remembers it was a “very scary” memory and she’s never gotten on a horse again. Amouranth, who’s a known horseback riding enthusiast, showed empathy for Alinity, saying she’s experienced similar instances in the past. However, despite Amouranth claiming her own share of scary horseback riding instances, she claims she’s “crazy” and “just gets back on” right after a fall from a horse. While Amouranth tells Alinity she’s usually fine after a fall and just needs a minute to “walk it off,” Alinity seemed unsure about ever getting back in the saddle when it comes to riding horses.

Alinity eats food from garbage bin after bizarre viewer request – Dexerto
Alinity eats food from garbage bin after bizarre viewer request Alinity, Twitch / FreepikPopular Twitch streamer Alinity Divine is known for the multiple controversies that have cropped up throughout her career on the platform, as well as the hilarious moments that happen during her streams – one of which caused her to do a little “dumpster diving.” There are many divisive flavor combinations in the world, with pineapple and pizza being just one of them. However, Alinity isn’t a big fan of mint and chocolate, which resulted in her throwing out some mint chocolate truffles on stream. Alinity was in the middle of an Apex Legends broadcast on June 14 when a viewer and Twitch staff member gave her a harsh ultimatum: either eat the mint truffles she’d just thrown in the garbage, or they would leave and never watch her stream again. Alinity Divine is one of Twitch’s most popular female creators, boasting a follower count over 870,000.https://www.instagram.com/p/ByGPbTvHr8H/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link This left Alinity with a difficult choice: would she eat the truffles out of the wastebasket, or let the viewer go on their merry way? Rather than lose a loyal viewer, Alinity dug out the truffle from the garbage and ate it on stream, appearing to immediately regret her decision. “I can’t believe it,” Alinity said before biting into the candy. “…I am going to eat it, okay? I’m going to eat this so that Lyle comes back here. Because I love Lyle. …I’m not grossed [out] because it’s in the garbage, I’m grossed [out] because it’s mint!” Rather than eat the entire truffle, Alinity threw it back in the bin when she was halfway through, leaving the stream to literally “wash her hands” of the hilarious moment. While Alinity lashed out at the site for her recent ban, claiming that Twitch should have punished the user responsible for streaming the content, she was reinstated three days later, and continues to create memorable (and equally hilarious) interactions with her viewers – including eating chocolate out of the garbage can.

Alinity explains what she really said after Twitch viewers claim she used a racial slur – Dexerto
Alinity explains what she really said after Twitch viewers claim she used a racial slur alinity twitchPopular Twitch streamer Alinity Divine has explained what she actually said, after viewers claimed she used a racial slur towards a teammate on stream. Alinity has received massive backlash in the past from Twitch users and the gaming community for some of her actions on Twitch such as the alleged animal abuse clips that went viral while she was streaming with her cat. The popular streamer found herself having to defend her actions yet again, after viewers claimed that she used a racial slur while playing Apex Legends. During her August 10 livestream, Alinity was communicating with her teammate when she said something which did sound similar to the accused slur, although it wasn’t certain. Alinity says she was talking about Twitch prime subscriptions, when she stumbled on her words while asking about his next Twitch prime subscription, “but Nick, your next prime is in the channel.” After raising questions, the streamer defended herself on Twitter, explaining to her fans that she often mispronounces words due to English not being her first language. She then apologized to anyone who felt offended and expressed that the racial slur that viewers thought they heard was actually just her stumbling on her words when speaking to her teammate. “I’m sorry to anyone offended by things they think I said. I didn’t call my teammate a slur, I stumbled on my words telling him your next prime is in the channel.” English is not my first language, I mispronounce and mumble words. I’m sorry to anyone offended by things they think I said. I didn’t call my teammate a slur, I stumbled on my words telling him “”your next prime is in the channel””:person_facepalming:♀️ — Alinity (@AlinityTwitch) August 11, 2019 It is unlikely that Alinity will receive a ban for her error, although many viewers in the gaming community have put pressure on Twitch in the past for their lack of punishment against the streamer. Many other streamers including Pokimane have given their take on the situation explaining why they feel Alinity often finds her way out of trouble in cases where other streamers have punished for something similar. Another streamer on Twitch known as TF Blade had dealt with similar when he was banned after staff mistakenly believed he had used a racial slur while streaming, although his suspension was lifted early after community backlash. Despite some of her previous controversial actions on the platform, many of the viewers have accepted the streamers apology and explanation, even coming to Alinity’s defense against some of the harsh comments she received online.

Alinity denies “dubious” screenshots claiming she won’t be Twitch banned – Dexerto
Alinity denies “dubious” screenshots claiming she won’t be Twitch banned Instagram/AlinityControversial Twitch streamer Natalia “Alinity” Mogollon is denying the legitimacy of a screenshot alleging she spoke to Twitch and will not be banned for throwing her cat during an Apex Legends match appeared online Monday, July 22. The screenshot, posted to r/LiveStreamFail on Reddit shows Alinity allegedly saying, “don’t worry guys I’m fine. I spoke to someone at Twitch today and I’m not getting banned. But, people who have been harassing me might be.” Dexerto reached out to the streamer for comment, but did not receive a reply by the deadline. Alinity did tweet the following after publishing: “Hate to interrupt a good witch hunt in full swing but if you’re using dubious screenshots that are old or fake or whatever else you’re pretty mean spirited. But I guess that’s the point.” Hate to interrupt a good witch hunt in full swing but if you’re using dubious screenshots that are old or fake or whatever else you’re pretty mean spirited. But I guess that’s the point.:skin-tone-4: — Alinity (@AlinityTwitch) July 22, 2019 Alinity drew the ire of animal rights groups such as PETA and the Saskatoon Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) after a clip of her throwing her cat went viral. Users also found earlier videos of the Columbian streamer feeding the same cat vodka. The SPCA confirmed on Twitter that they were investigating the incident. There has not been any update on the case since July 19. ATTENTION: @TwitchSupport, Take a stand for cats & please remove Alinity from @Twitch immediately. She is using the platform to post animal abuse, which sends a dangerous message to anyone watching her videos. Cats are not props to abuse for more views :cat_face:pic.twitter.com/EsIsB5o6Tf — PETA – #EndSpeciesism (@peta) July 19, 2019 The incident became so wide-spread, it even became national news on CTV in Canada, where the streamer is based. A recent petition, which as of this posting has 17,278 signatures, to get the streamer banned from Twitch has been gaining momentum. Ironically the petition even stated, “It’s clear that Twitch has a clear bias and they favor women streamers, but this is animal abuse. It’s time for them to take action and permanently ban Alinity.” As for any Twitch abuse the streamer has received, the popular female streamer has recently put her Twitch on subscribers only mode, meaning that only users who subscribe to her are able to chat on her stream. Her last broadcast was July 19, the day the controversy unfolded. The abuse may not be limited to the internet, though. Alinity has also claimed that people have been coming to her house and asking her neighbors where she is. “Please stop coming to my house and asking my neighbours where I am. Its actually really scary,” she wrote on Sunday July 21. Please stop coming to my house and asking my neighbours where I am. Its actually really scary — Alinity (@AlinityTwitch) July 22, 2019 With so many prominent voices including comedian Ricky Gervais, speaking out against the apparent animal abuse, any decision to not punish the streamer could result in even more controversy.

Alinity denies banning Twitch viewer featured in viral Twitter video – Dexerto
Alinity denies banning Twitch viewer featured in viral Twitter video Twitch: AlinityTwitch star Alinity is at the center of a viral video showing her banning someone for playing a simple prank on her, but the streamer hit back against the claim. Alinity has been an easy target for trolls in 2019. From the cat throwing incident to clips involving her other pets, the popular Twitch streamer has given the internet a ton of fodder for memes and the like. As the year is winding down, the longtime streamer will want to put 2019’s low points behind her, but it might prove to be difficult as more audiences come to know her solely for her mistakes. In a December 24 video, an editor for The Mob ‘JhbTeam’ stitched together a montage of the time he played a small trick on Alinity during her stream. He ended the clip with images suggesting Alinity had banned him following the prank he played on her for some quick laughs among his followers. But that’s when Alinity chimed in to debunk the video, questioning JhbTeam’s motives while showing the unedited interaction between herself and the editor. https://twitter.com/JhbTeam/status/1209592294040621058 The clip is uneventful, as Jhb’s set-up and punchline show up in Alinity’s Twitch Chat then simply go by; the latter unnoticed. Alinity’s attempt to deny the questionable ban while clearing her name of pettiness backfired with Jhb crafting another meme to shut down the streamer: “Don’t care, didn’t ask. Plus you threw your cat.” https://twitter.com/JhbTeam/status/1209608403653234688 While the original cut of Jhb’s “ban” instantly went viral, the followup roast hit the same notes with his audience, getting over 2,000 likes in about an hour. In the months following her controversies, Alinity has received flak from all corners of the streaming space. Even Mixer star Ninja got in on the trend, referencing the times she threw her cat and fed her pet vodka. “If you’re a cat-thrower, Twitch is the place for you,” Ninja said. “‘I don’t always throw my cats, but when I do, I prefer to wait until after I’ve poured vodka in its mouth.” Since the fallout of the clips involving pets, Alinity was investigated by the SPCA but nothing materialized – though that hasn’t stopped the memes from flooding in.

Alinity defends JustaMinx over fan “attacks” after Streamer Awards drama – Dexerto
Alinity defends JustaMinx over fan “attacks” after Streamer Awards drama Twitch: AlinityTwitch star Alinity stepped in to defend JustAMinx from online hate amid the ongoing drama between herself and QTCinderella following the fallout from the 2023 Streamer Awards where Minx got a party shut down. On March 11, QTCinderella hosted the second installment of her Streamer Awards show, bringing together some of the biggest names in the Twitch community for a celebration of their work. The glitzy event went off pretty smoothly, but there has been a bit of fallout. Most notably, there has been drama between QT and JustAMinx after the Irish streamer’s alleged drunk and disorderly behavior meant that an afterparty was shut down, costing QT $50,000 in the process. In the aftermath, the pair shared some harsh words for each other on Twitter, with QT urging her former friend to “get help.” Naturally, some critics have dogpiled onto Minx following this, and while she’s tried to defend herself, Alinity has also stepped in on her behalf. Alinity defends JustAMinx from ‘attacks’ over Streamer Awards party backlash The Just Chatting streamer spoke about the situation during her March 14 streamer, stepping in to defend Minx from those who are “attacking” her, but aren’t her friends, nor doing it in a helpful way. “I don’t fricking know what it is, I don’t know her that well. I’m close to her but I don’t know the extent of her problems. I’ve tried reaching out a million times but there’s just a point where you can’t do anything,” Alinity said. “What I’m trying to say is, she’s someone who is in pain and if you want to tell her, hey, I’m not going to be in your life anymore until you get better, that’s a good thing. You should do that, you should tell an addict ‘hey I’m not going to be in your life anymore until you get better.’ “Now, you as a viewer going on and attacking her and commenting on things online, that does not help anyone. That’s all I’m trying to say. I just worry about her.” Minx claimed that she’d had a seizure at the time due to her epilepsy, and is traveling home to Ireland at some point to see her doctors about medication. The drama between her and QT had slowed down a bit, given that QT blocked her on Twitter after it.

Alinity debates leaving “bullsh*t” Twitch after ban for twerking – Dexerto
Alinity debates leaving “bullsh*t” Twitch after ban for twerking Twitch/AlinityTwitch star Alinity has been hit with a ban from the platform for twerking, slamming the “bullsh*t” platform shortly after. Over the last few years, Alinity has become one of the most popular female streamers on the platform, amassing nearly 1.5 million followers. You’d think it would be smooth sailing for the streamer, but on May 30, she was hit with an unexpected suspension on the Amazon-owned site. Now, she’s thinking about “taking business somewhere else” after a simple dance twerk landed her in hot water. Alinity banned from Twitch for twerking Shortly after her channel disappeared only to show Twitch’s ban message instead, Alinity took to Twitter to reveal the reason behind her suspension. “Got banned on Twitch for TWERKING. Yes, really. What a bullshit ass platform, thinking of taking business somewhere else,” she said. “3 f*cking days. I got less when I had a [wardrobe malfunction]. what a JOKE.” Alinity shared the clip that got her the three-day suspension in another tweet that shows her dancing while a friend plays a song live. The Twitch star also says that she mentioned to the platform that there is “way worse” than her clip, and claims they said that “it needs reported for a ban.” In response, Alinity mentioned that fans should report things that are worse than her twerking. “I guess go ahead and report anything you think is worse than this, ’cause there are lots,” she said. Although her ban was initially three days her account was reinstated just 24 hours after the ban, presumably due to her appealing the suspension. There’s no telling where Alinity might go if she decides to take her live streams to another platform, as she could go over to Kick or follow Mizkif and others over to Rumble.

Alinity “confused” by xQc’s claim that Texas stream house was “hostile” – Dexerto
Alinity “confused” by xQc’s claim that Texas stream house was “hostile” Twitch: xqc / YouTube: AlinityTwitch star Alinity says she’s “confused” by xQc’s claims that the Texas streaming community is “hostile” and full of “drama” after moving out of a content house in Austin. Popular Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel is stirring up conversation across the net following comments he made regarding the streamer house he used to live at in Austin, Texas. Lengyel has had to jump from place to place throughout his career due to “daily swattings” and home invasions. These swattings ultimately prompted him to move from his Texas residence. However, his most recent statements appear to hint that there was more to his relocation, as the streamer referenced an “insane the amount of drama behind the scenes” in the Lone Star State’s streaming community. It looks like other streamers living in the area aren’t necessarily in agreement. Fellow streamer Natalia ‘Alinity’ Mogollon chimed in on the drama via Twitter, where she said she was ultimately “confused” by xQc’s opinion. “Other than a few disagreements (caused by my own stupidity), everyone in Austin has been chill,” she wrote. “Legit confused.” Other than a few disagreements (caused by my own stupidity) , everyone in Austin has been chill. Legit confused 😕 — Alinity (@Alinity) June 29, 2022 Cloud9 team manager and musician ‘Kala’ seemed to hold a similar opinion, writing on Twitter: “Was on LSF earlier and saw the sh*t about Texas streamers. My experience with them has been super positive, @Alinity, @Sodapoppintv, @simplyn64, @MitchJonez, @EsfandTV have all been really nice to me and I legit didn’t hear any drama about people while I was there.” Alinity replied to Kala’s post, saying she is “new-ish here and I’m also super confused.” Just tweeted something before I saw this. I’m new-ish here and I’m also super confused — Alinity (@Alinity) June 29, 2022 Although xQc has yet to reply to these latest comments, it looks like this is a subject that is continuing to spark discussion regarding the Texas streaming scene — a conversation that follows ongoing drama between streamers Mizkif and Greekgodx.

Alinity claims she was stalked following viral cat abuse debacle – Dexerto
Alinity claims she was stalked following viral cat abuse debacle Alinity, Twitch / FreepikPopular Twitch streamer Alinity Divine stirred up controversy after throwing her pet cat over her head during a live broadcast, inciting outrage across the net over what many critics viewed as animal abuse – but the hate wasn’t merely limited to the online world. While Alinity took an eight-day break from streaming following the scandal, she returned to the platform following investigation by the Saskatoon SPCA, who cleared her of all charges. Despite her seemingly triumphant return, she admitted that the scandal brought out a frightening side to her critics – and even claimed that she had been physically stalked due to the drama. Alinity opened up about the incident during her first stream since her cat-tossing clip went viral, explaining that she’d been followed by people in her neighborhood who recognized her. “People have been, umm, showing up to my house,” she began. “…there were a few people in my neighborhood that I guess know who I am and have seen me walking my dog, and have followed me to my house.” Unsurprisingly, the streamer was disturbed by this development, calling the stalking “not cool” and claiming that she keeps a baseball bat under her bed in preparation for possible home invasions. This wouldn’t be the first time Alinity has spoken out about being followed, either: the streamer Tweeted out a similar story on July 21, begging stalkers to respect her privacy in light of the drama. Please stop coming to my house and asking my neighbours where I am. Its actually really scary — Alinity (@AlinityTwitch) July 22, 2019 “Please stop coming to my house and asking my neighbours where I am,” she wrote. “It’s actually really scary.” While the SPCA claimed that Alinity “showed remorse” for tossing her cat and harbored “no malicious intent” toward the animal, critics continue to lash out across the net, as Twitch has yet to dole out a punishment following the scandal. 600Popular YouTuber Ethan Klein even claimed that Twitch gives “special treatment” to bigger streamers on the platform, alleging that his contact at the company told him so over a phone call during his time as a partnered streamer. [Timestamp: 53:57 for mobile viewers] Despite speculation, Alinity continues to stream on the site – although people clearly aren’t happy about it, and are taking their frustration to the real world in a frightening display of aggression.

Alinity claims she started Twitch topless meta over five years ago – Dexerto
Alinity claims she started Twitch topless meta over five years ago X/AlinityTwitch’s new topless meta has taken the streaming world by storm, but it could be a lot older than its recent popularity suggests according to Alinity. Controversial Twitch metas pop up every so often as streamers try to find ways to circumvent or find loopholes around the platform’s TOS with the topless meta being the most recent trend. At first, OnlyFans model Morgpie went viral when she pretended to stream topless and this was soon followed by other creators upping the ante by using censor bars to cover their breasts and other body parts giving the illusion of nudity. While Morgpie may have made this meta popular, Twitch star Natalia ‘Alinity’ Mogollon says she was doing this all the way back in 2017. Alinity may have started Twitch topless meta in 2017 In a post on X, Alinity shared a screenshot from a stream taken six years ago where her chest was barely visible thereby appearing topless. “Me on Twitch in 2017 before the ‘meta’,” she captioned the photo. Users in the comments were impressed with her for seemingly having the wherewithal to start this trend so long ago. “You were ahead of your time,” one praised. “A woman ahead of her time,” said another. One fan even inquired about the age of the clip, asking if predated her infamous cat-tossing scandal, which Alinity confirmed it did. Since then, there have been plenty more Twitch controversies, which really puts things in perspective timeline-wise. Of course, another streamer could easily have been partaking in the topless meta even before Alinity, but for now, this might be the earliest screenshot of the meta in action. Alinity claims police “can’t tell her if Amouranth is okay” following welfare check – Dexerto
Alinity claims police “can’t tell her if Amouranth is okay” following welfare check Alinity – a close friend and fellow streamer of Amouranth – has let her viewers know that she called the police to perform a welfare check on Amouranth following a concerning stream, and she claims they can’t tell her if she is okay or not. On October 15, Amouranth went live on Twitch to reveal that she was stuck in an abusive marriage. This came as a shock to many of her viewers as a large portion of her fanbase believed the streamer to be single. She later revealed that her husband made her appear single so as to not hurt her brand. The stream also included a verbal argument between Amouranth and her husband, her showcasing damage he had dealt to her door and walls, and a look at the abusive texts he has sent her. The stream ended abruptly after a female voice off-camera asked if Amouranth had taken her medication. This led a number of her fans and fellow streamers to grow concerned for her well-being, including her close friend Alinity. Alinity calls police for a welfare check on Amouranth On October 16, Alinity went live on Twitch to discuss Amouranth’s situation. Alinity claimed she had unsuccessfully attempted to contact Amouranth, and then called the police and asked for them to perform a welfare check to see if she was okay. “I woke up this morning and I saw the stuff on LSF, and I got a little concerned about Amo,” Alinity stated. “I tried reaching out and I couldn’t… So, I did a welfare check on her, and the police can’t tell me anything about whether or not she’s okay. And that’s literally all I know.” Alinity didn’t want to comment further on the matter but expressed that she was a little concerned and hoped that Amouranth was okay, and stated she wanted to hear from her soon. As of the time of reporting, Amouranth has yet to make a statement easing the concerns of her fans and fellow streamers.

Alinity claims copyright strike against PewDiePie was an “accident” – Dexerto
Alinity claims copyright strike against PewDiePie was an “accident” Twitch: Alinity / YouTube: PewDiePie[jwplayer IX7jLp7f]During a July 6 stream with Dr. K, Twitch star Natalia ‘Alinity’ Mogollon claimed that her copyright strike against YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg happened by mistake. The incident sparked drama between the two back in 2018. Drama between the two personalities broke out in 2018 when Alinity appeared to issue a copyright strike against PewDiePie’s YouTube channel. At the time, she was offended by the Swede’s joke about “Twitch thots” and called him out in front of her viewers. However during her latest broadcast, the 32-year old sat down for a live talk with popular streamer Dr. K. During the emotional conversation in which she opened up about internet hate, she also revealed how the claim against Pewds’ video was an “accident.” (Topic starts at 00:52.) Alinity claims she didn’t copyright strike PewDiePie During her sit down with the Twitch personality, Alinity revealed how much internet hate for her past mistakes has impacted her. The talk came after her breakdown during a stream on July 2 for similar reasons. During the discussion, the star opened up about her drama between PewDiePie in 2018. “There were compilations of myself… I got up and yelled at my roommate “Oh, can we copystrike PewDiePie?!”… It was just like for show.” The streamer then claimed that “it was just, like, a joke” and that she wasn’t being serious. “I was trying to play it up for the stream. But I didn’t actually copystrike his video. I didn’t do it. It was the company that was working for me, [they] accidentally and coincidentally put a strike on the video.” The Twitch star also explained that the company she used to work with issued a statement 0ver the incident, and stated that it was an employee who made the strike and not her. “But nobody paid attention to that! Everybody is like “she’s evil, she’s abusing the law!” she exclaimed. Alinity then revealed that she got a ton of backlash for the situation, and that viewers started to dig through her old content to find any type of mistake she might have made. Despite past controversy, Alinity has seen a wave of support from the streaming community after she opened up about her mental health. On July 4, she promised to “be better” in the future in a post on social media. At the time of writing, PewDiePie has yet to respond to her explanation. However, it is likely the Swede will give his thoughts in a future reaction video.

Alinity calls for action against “repeat offenders” on Twitch after 6th Indiefoxx ban – Dexerto
Alinity calls for action against “repeat offenders” on Twitch after 6th Indiefoxx ban Twitch/Alinity/Instagram/IndiefoxxTwitch star Natalia ‘Alinity’ Mogollon is calling for Twitch to do something about repeat offenders on the platform amid fellow streamer Indiefoxx’s sixth ban on the site. On June 29, Indiefoxx was suspended on the site for the second time in the month and the sixth time overall in 2021 and speculation was running wild about what she did, especially after the ASMR drama that resulted in her fifth ban. So far, Indiefoxx hasn’t commented on the ban, but she has posted to Instagram and other social media sites since, seemingly suggesting that she doesn’t want to talk about it yet. As such, it’s unclear what did she to earn her sixth ban and how long it will last for, but that hasn’t stopped streamers such as Alinity to call on Twitch to treat everyone fairly. “So is Twitch gonna do something about repeat offenders?” the Colombian-Canadian asked. “Or is it fair game for everyone to start stretching the TOS as thin as they can?” All five of Indiefoxx’s previous bans have lasted three days or less and she still has her Partner status as of this writing, implying that she hasn’t been permanently banned from the Amazon-owned site. “I’ve been benefited by this blurred line before. I then thought it was messed up and I still do. We need consistency and equal treatment. What’s the point of the TOS then?” she added. I’ve been benefited by this blurred line before. I then thought it was messed up and I still do. We need consistency and equal treatment. What’s the point of the TOS then? — Alinity (@Alinity) June 29, 2021 Alinity, who herself has been accused of favoritism by Twitch in the past, disputed claims that “everyone would be f**ked” if Twitch was consistent with how it dishes out bans. “That’s not the f**king point,” she said in response to another streamer who felt she benefited from Twitch’s laissez-faire approach to her content. “Despite if it benefits me or not, I want fair treatment for everyone.” That’s not the fucking point. Despite if it benefits me or not, I want fair treatment for everyone. — Alinity (@Alinity) June 29, 2021 This isn’t the first time Alinity has called for harsher punishments for frequent rule breakers. After Indiefoxx and Amouranth were banned earlier in June, Mogollon stressed that sexual content wouldn’t stop until longer bans were implemented. It still remains to be seen how long this new Indiefoxx suspension will last, but with the streamer remaining quiet and Twitch refusing to comment on individual bans, it’s possible she may have gotten her wish without knowing it.

Alinity bursts into tears and apologizes after Twitch backlash over calling waiter “racist” – Dexerto
Alinity bursts into tears and apologizes after Twitch backlash over calling waiter “racist” Twitch: AlinityAlinity bursts into tears and apologizes after Twitch backlash for calling waiter “racist” Natalia ‘Alinity’ Mogollon burst into tears and apologized for calling a waiter “racist” after the internet grilled her for making a “gross accusation” that could potentially damage his livelihood. Alinity has been hanging out with Mizkif and Maya and doing some IRL streams with them on Twitch. It was going swimmingly until they encountered a Shake Shack employee who was apparently rude to Korean streamer HAchubby. Apparently, the waiter became impatient after struggling to understand her order because English isn’t her first language. However, Alinity claimed he “didn’t like” HAchubby and got “so upset” because he was “racist.” The internet wasn’t thrilled with her comments. Many people considered it to be an extraordinary claim without extraordinary evidence. They cautioned her to “be careful” when throwing accusations like that around in front of 55,000 viewers because it could cost him his job. The criticism didn’t stop there, though. Others slammed the trio for being “delusional millionaires” who were overly sensitive to the incident. The negative reaction to their comments got so extreme that the original clip, shared on /r/LivestreamFails, was removed from Twitch. To make matters worse, it seems like the whole situation has taken a hefty toll on Alinity. “Alinity is upstairs crying,” said Mizkif. “I don’t know what to do. She’s pretty upset. The vibes are definitely off. I went upstairs, and she was crying.” Eventually, Alinity wiped away her tears and summoned the courage to get back on stream. Then, she told viewers that she apologized to the manager and employees over the incident and assured fans everything had been sorted. “I called the place. I talked to the manager. I apologized for being a**holes,” she said. “I told the manager that the employees were great. And the manager said that all the employees were fine and thank you for calling.” In the end, it all worked out. The employee didn’t lose his job, and there was no bad blood between him and the streamers. However, the situation serves as a stark reminder that Twitch streamers need to be careful with what they say and do in front of their massive audiences because it can have serious implications in the real world.

Alinity breaks down after revealing how much internet hate affects her – Dexerto
Alinity breaks down after revealing how much internet hate affects her Twitch: Alinity[jwplayer Y7PB7YwV]Popular Twitch streamer Natalia ‘Alinity’ Mogollon broke down in tears during a July 2 broadcast after she revealed that harassment she’s gotten online over “past mistakes” has become overwhelming. Alinity is one of Twitch’s most-watched female personalities. However, the popular streamer has faced a storm of backlash in the last year, following several controversies on the platform. During her latest broadcast, the star opened up to viewers about how harassment over her past mistakes has become overwhelming. She also hit out at cancel culture for taking things too far. Alinity breaks down on stream The streamer sat down for an emotional chat with her audience during her July 2 broadcast titled “Very very sad. We need to talk.” During the conversation, she addressed the recent passing of fellow streamer Byron ‘Reckful’ Bernstein, before revealing how relentless hate online has started to severely impact her. “The s**t you guys say really affects people, okay? You guys have no idea how many times I’ve wanted to kill myself. How many times I’ve spent my entire night, trying to figure how I was going to end my life. I just want you guys to know, it’s really serious. You guys can’t just send hoards of hate towards somebody without it having an effect on a person,” she said. The personality broke down in tears, and told her chat that no matter how much she apologizes, people won’t let go of her past. “I just don’t know what to do. Do I just stop streaming? Is that the only way that people are ever going to leave me alone?” she continued. When a donation came in that read “just accept you made a mistake” the star got emotional, and exclaimed, “I have! I have! Chat, do I really have to read thousands and thousands of messages a day of the mistakes I’ve made in my past? Is that really what I have to do? You can’t just say ignore the trolls!” Alinity then hit out at cancel culture, and brought up Jenna Marbles who quit YouTube on June 25 after apologizing for racism in her past content. “And so what? I quit streaming, then trolls learn that if you harass somebody long enough, you’re gonna make them quit. That’s the whole thing about a cancel culture. That’s what happened to Jenna Marbles,” she said. The streaming personality then reiterated to viewers how much their words can truly impact another person online. “I just wanted you guys to know that no matter how strong a person appears, this s**t affects them, okay? There are some days [that are] harder than others, and I know that I appear really strong, but this really affects people. It really does.” Alinity’s stream only lasted 52 minutes, before she ended the the broadcast. The star told her viewers that she “just wanted to send a message” about the severity of online hate mobs and how they can impact a person.

Alinity blasts Twitch viewers blaming her for other streamers’ “unfair” bans – Dexerto
Alinity blasts Twitch viewers blaming her for other streamers’ “unfair” bans Twitch/AlinityPopular Twitch streamer Natalia ‘Alinity’ Mogollon has slammed fans of other streamers for tagging her whenever their favorite broadcasters get banned. Alinity has long been the target of trolls who believe she receives special treatment from Twitch, allowing her to either avoid bans or get others suspended. Things reached a boiling point back in 2019 following her infamous cat-throwing scandal, where a clip that showed her tossing her cat behind her back during a heated game of Apex Legends went viral – but she wasn’t punished by Twitch. An investigation by animal protective services also cleared her of any wrongdoing. A year later, she denied claims she was responsible for getting legendary streamer Dr Disrespect indefinitely banned from the platform, but it seems like the issues are still ongoing to this day. https://twitter.com/Alinity/status/1517164189952917505 Alinity lashes out at trolls blaming her for Twitch bans On April 21, Mogollon revealed she was still being tagged in threads when streamers get banned. “It’s been 3 years. People still tag me when their favorite streamer receives an unfair ban. C*nts,” she blasted. This resulted in some to voice support for Alinity, completely flabbergasted that she was still receiving abuse. “They won’t say sh*t when you win streamer of the year,” Mizkif’s channel manager replied. literally at the peak of my career “”you fell off”” I don’t think they would stop Rosii 🤣😂— Alinity (@Alinity) April 21, 2022 “Literally at the peak of my career, ‘You fell off,’” Alinity replied, mocking her haters. “I don’t think they would stop Rosi.” Another commented that the Colombian-Canadian was living “rent free” in trolls’ heads and joked that she should sublease. “I’d be making bank tbh,” she said in agreement. Alinity didn’t specify which recent streamer ban she was being tagged in this time around, but hopefully, this will be one of the last times she has to deal with the trolls bothering her on social media.

Alinity tells bizarre story about hilariously turning down evangelists – Dexerto
Alinity tells bizarre story about hilariously turning down evangelists Alinity, Twitch / Zion SecurityPopular Twitch streamer Alinity Divine is no stranger to awkward situations – but one incident gave her the chance to tell a hilarious and empowering story. Alinity kicked off her broadcast on April 13 with a humorous tale recounting her encounter with door-to-door evangelists, who she claimed are regular visitors in her neighborhood. According to Alinity, the evangelists turned up on her doorstep after she’d returned from a session of morning yoga – prompting a hilarious conversation between the two parties that left one of the missionaries speechless. Alinity is an incredibly popular streamer on Twitch, with nearly one million followers on the site.https://www.instagram.com/p/BtOifUUgWOp/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Alinity’s evangelistic encounter “They knocked on the door and they’re like, ‘Oh, hi, how are you?’” Alinity began. “And I’m like, ‘Oh, hey guys, I have to be honest, but I’m actually pantheist, so I have absolutely no interest in talking to you guys about Jesus today.’” This prompted a quizzical inquiry from one of the evangelists, leading Alinity to explain her religious beliefs in greater detail. “… I told the guy, ‘Yes, I believe that God is the entire universe,’” she continued. “And the face that this man made, it’s like if I had just told him… he looked at me like I was crazy.” This didn’t stop the evangelists in their efforts, which Alinity politely declined – something that the streamer claims was a major victory for her. “I felt so proud of myself, because never in my life I’ve been able to say no,” she said of the encounter. “It felt so good! Awkward online interactions While Alinity’s story was both heartwarming and hilarious, not every interaction the streamer has during her broadcasts is as wholesome; in fact, her tale follows an awkward encounter with a viewer in early March, who she roasted after they announced that they had lost their virginity. “Yeah, you told us last time that you had lost your virginity,” Alinity joked. “That’s… good for you, I guess? Like, I don’t know what to tell you. You keep saying it every time you come in my channel.” Alinity is likewise known for the multiple scandals that have cropped up throughout her career on the platform, including taking a selfie during a live stream that left users across the site wondering how she hadn’t been banned for the offense.

Alinity banned from Twitch following wardrobe malfunction on stream – Dexerto
Alinity banned from Twitch following wardrobe malfunction on stream Twitch: AlinityApril 26 update: Alinity’s 24-hour Twitch suspension is up, with the streamer’s account active again on the platform. However, she’s still imposing a three-day suspension on herself. The original story continues below. Twitch streamer Natalia ‘Alinity’ Mogollon has been banned from Twitch, following a wardrobe malfunction during a broadcast on April 24. The streamer had earlier ‘banned herself’ from the platform earlier in the day, but now she’s been officially suspended by the streaming service itself, and her channel has been temporarily taken down. The Columbian has found herself embroiled in drama yet again after she accidentally revealed too much of herself after trying to stuff a pillow down her shirt during a livestream. Immediately after the incident, the internet is awash with people calling for her suspension from the platform. On April 25, the streamer addressed the controversy on Twitter, and claimed that regardless of what the Amazon-owned platform decided to do about the situation, she was going to be placing ‘herself’ under a ‘three-day suspension,’ calling it “fair.” The platform’s Community Guidelines state that “overall surrounding framing and context” will be taken into account when assessing a situation that’s violated their rules, but does not comment on CG violations publicly to respect the privacy of its users. Hey so regardless of whatever Twitch decides to do, I’m gonna give myself a 3 day suspension from the platform. I think it is fair. Have yourselves a nice day! — Alinity (@Alinity) April 25, 2020 Alinity then followed it up with more tweets two hours later, telling people outraged that she hadn’t yet been banned over the incident to take it up with Twitch. She also asked how “their inconsistencies” with bans is her fault. “Yo, if you guys don’t like how Twitch handles bans take it with them,” she said. “How are their inconsistencies my fault?” Yo, if you guys don’t like how Twitch handles bans take it with them. How are their inconsistencies my fault? — Alinity (@Alinity) April 25, 2020 “You guys know I have been suspended before, right? So many people saying I don’t get in trouble and s**t. I just didn’t make a big fuzz when I got suspended, cause WHO CARES?” she continued. “GUYS I GOT BANNED BUT X AND Y PERSON DIDN’T WAH WAH WAH” Not my kinda s**t really…. I just took time off to think about my mistakes.” “”GUYS I GOT BANNED BUT X AND Y PERSON DIDN’T WAH WAH WAH”” Not my kinda shit really…. I just took time off to think about my mistakes. — Alinity (@Alinity) April 25, 2020 This latest drama follows a string of other controversies involving the streamer – most famously when she was accused of “abusing” her cats by ‘throwing’ one over her shoulder and feeding it vodka, with some even calling animal protective services on her. She was later cleared of any wrongdoing by the Saskatoon SPCA. The length of Alinity’s ban is currently unknown. Suspensions typically last from 24 hours, to three days, or up to one month.

Alinity baffled after AI says Summit1g is a “bigger female streamer” than Amouranth – Dexerto
Alinity baffled after AI says Summit1g is a “bigger female streamer” than Amouranth Twitch/Alinity/Summit1g/AmouranthTwitch star Alinity was forced to teach an AI about female streamers after it ranked Summit1g higher than Amouranth. When it comes to the top female streamers on Twitch, there are all sorts of different opinions, but an AI might just take the prize for the most bizarre rankings. AI has been taking over the internet for a while now and content creators have been taking advantage of it on Twitch and other platforms. During a recent broadcast, Alinity discovered why the technology still has much to learn. After seeing the AI’s ranking for Twitch streamers, the Colombian-Canadian adjusted her question to ask about the top females and was left completely shocked at the results. AI ranks Summit1g as a top female Twitch streamer Once Alinity put in her question, the AI responded by claiming that Pokimane, KittyPlays, and surprisingly Summit1g were all top females on Twitch. “Summit?!” gasped Alinity. “Why does it think that Summit is a girl?” Being a good teacher, Alinity decided to correct the AI by explaining that Summit1g is a male, which the AI appeared to understand. When Alinity asked the AI the same question again, Summit1g wasn’t included, and instead, the artificial intelligence put Amouranth in his place, which makes sense considering she was the most-watched female of 2022. “Holy sh*t, so maybe it was confusing Amouranth with Summit somehow?” she pondered. “Chat, it’s learning. I’m a good teacher!” So far, neither Summit nor Amouranth have responded to the amusing interaction or thanked Alinity for clearing up such a wild error with the AI. It just goes to show that you shouldn’t believe everything an AI tells you!

Alinity asks Twitch to suspend her for longer after 24 hour ban – Dexerto
Alinity asks Twitch to suspend her for longer after 24 hour ban Instagram/alinitydivineTwitch streamer Natalia ‘Alinity’ Mogollon doesn’t think her suspension for an on-stream wardrobe malfunction is enough of a punishment, and is taking matters into her own hands. On April 24, the Twitch star accidentally flashed her viewers, leading to many fellow entertainers to call on the platform to suspend the streamer who infamously avoided a ban following a cat-throwing incident in 2019. While Alinity did say she would be imposing a three day ban on herself, the streaming site did end up suspending her for a mere 24 hours – a punishment that didn’t seem fair to the Columbian-Canadian. “Not long enough,” she said on Twitter when asked how long her suspension would last. “I’m actually trying to get it extended to 3 days.” The streamer didn’t elaborate about how she was “trying” to get it extended or if she was in contact with the site directly. So, despite the shorter-than-expected ban, Alinity will still be taking a self-imposed three-day break from streaming, so the earliest fans should expect to see her back on Twitch is Tuesday, April 28. 24 hours. Not long enough. I’m actually trying to get it extended to 3 days.— Alinity (@Alinity) April 26, 2020 It’s unclear why Alinity felt the need to suspend herself for longer, but it may have to do with many accusing Twitch of having double standards. As Dexerto previously reported, community figures such as Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem and Kaceytron actively called on the streaming site to ban Alinity while Trainwreckstv even suggested the wardrobe malfunction was intentional for views. Twitch has caused controversy in the past for punishing certain streamers while not acting with others. For instance, bodypainting broadcaster ‘forkgirl’ was banned after covering her upper body, confusing many in regards to Twitch’s stance on the artform. Another user, pin-up artist Saruei was banned even after making an effort to censor her art, which Twitch labeled as too suggestive for its site. It remains to be seen if Twitch will extend Alinity’s suspension, but the platform doesn’t comment on individual cases. We’ll have to see what happens.

Alinity asks Elon Musk to buy Twitch and reveal why Dr Disrespect was banned – Dexerto
Alinity asks Elon Musk to buy Twitch and reveal why Dr Disrespect was banned Instagram/Alinity/DrDisrespectTwitch star Natalia ‘Alinity’ Mogollon is pleading for Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk to buy Twitch next and finally reveal why Dr Disrespect was banned from the platform. Elon Musk shocked the world on April 25 when it was announced that he had successfully purchased Twitter in a whopping $44 billion dollar buyout, sparking plenty of discussion in the influencer sphere. One influencer who seemed to approve of Elon’s purchase was Alinity, but not for reasons you might expect. Instead of celebrating the Tesla founder’s newest acquisition, she urged him to move on to the next one. The OnlyFans model and streamer pulled for Musk to buy Twitch next, seemingly for one reason only: find out why Dr Disrespect was banned. Alinity wants Elon Musk to purchase Twitch after Twitter buyout In the Summer of 2020, Twitch banned Dr Disrespect and gave no indication as to why the two-time had been permanently suspended from the platform. Doc took Twitch to court over the issue and the legal dispute was officially settled on March 10, 2022, but without any information about the case made public, fans were still left in the dark. With Amazon-owned Twitch unwilling to reveal the reason for the ban, Alinity called for Elon to save the day. “Elon Musk please buy Twitch and tell us why Doc got banned,” she said, tagging the SpaceX founder. It’s unclear if Musk even has Twitch on his radar or if the free speech enthusiast sees Dr Disrespect’s ban as a motive to acquire the site. Regardless, as long as Doc’s ban remains a mystery, streamers will keep demanding answers and want them through any means necessary. In any case, it will be fun to see what Elon has in store for Twitter and if he has any big plans for the social media juggernaut now that he has control.

Alinity announces sudden streaming hiatus amid sickness – Dexerto
Alinity announces sudden streaming hiatus amid sickness Alinity InstagramTwitch star Alinity is taking a break from streaming just a few days after announcing she felt unwell, joining other high-profile personalities such as Pokimane and JackSepticEye who’ve taken brief hiatuses in 2020 for different health reasons. Unlike her fellow industry figures, Alinity has been giving a few signs that an impending break from her streaming career was in the cards. The online star has been “pretty sick” lately, notifying her supporters through a couple of posts before ultimately announcing that she was stepping away from the streaming setup for the time being. “Hello friends, I need to take a break from streaming and social media. I will see you all when I get back,” she said on Christmas Eve, a few days after posting on Instagram that she wasn’t sure when her next Twitch show would be. Hello friends, I need to take a break from Streaming and social media. I will see you all when I get back 🥺 ❤ — Alinity (@Alinity) December 24, 2020 Her streams in December have been slowing down as a result. Normally, Alinity is live for around eight hours. But in the days leading up to her break, it’s been well below that mark, barely punching above two hours on her December 19 stream, according to Twitch Tracker. The next day she announced that she was going to prioritize her health. “I am pretty sick. Not fun stuff. I will be around less for a little while. Streams will be short and sporadic, gotta look after my health.” Just like Jack and Poki, the Columbian streamer is going to step back for a bit to regain her health before going live once again. https://twitter.com/AlinityTwitch/status/1340744016720097280 All things considered, Alinity’s channel growth in the hectic year has actually been fairly steady. The longtime broadcaster has been maintaining healthy metrics adding around 305,000 followers in 2020 to her community of over 1.3 million fans. Those aren’t bad numbers for a streamer who’s in her seventh year of going live on Twitch. Through all of the muck and controversies Alinity found herself in, she’s remained a steady force on the platform for thousands of viewers per stream. Now those viewers will patiently wait as Alinity gets herself back to full speed before making her comeback on Twitch going into 2021.

Alinity and Mizkif wager $5,000 over who breaks their “baby” first – Dexerto
Alinity and Mizkif wager $5,000 over who breaks their “baby” first YouTube: Mizkif/Twitter: AlinityAlinity and Mizkif have a baby, technically, and they’ve turned parenting into a competition with 1,000 subs on the line. On May 30, 2022, Alinity joined Mizkif on stream to reveal that she was pregnant. Minutes later, it became apparent that Alinity was trolling but played with the idea of having a baby for “content.” Now, Alinity and Mizkif have acquired a realistic medical “baby” to take care of and they’ve made it a competition between the two with 1,000 subs on the line. Alinity and Mizkif start a baby competition Starting off his June 18 video, Mizkif revealed that he “had a baby” with Alinity. “For the next week, Alinity and I are going to have a baby. If this baby doesn’t get attention for 15 minutes, the baby dies. If the baby dies while it’s with me, I owe Alinity 1,000 subs. If the baby dies with Alinity, she owes me 1,000 subs,” Mizkif explained. He also made it clear that the two did not have an actual human baby together. He revealed: “It is a very expensive baby that people can really only get their hands on when they work in the medical field. This baby is very serious. It knows when it’s being touched by humans, it knows exactly what it wants and if I’m talking too loud, the baby can cry. “This is not a baby that you can just reset. There’s a master key for this baby and we gave someone that we trust that will not give us a key. It also has a feature that shows whether or not it’s being ‘abused.’ If that happens, it will give an alert that that person will lose the challenge.” Neither party has won the challenge so far, but we’ll make sure to update as soon as it ends. Since creating her Twitch channel in 2012, Alinity has become one of the most popular female streamers with nearly 1.5 million followers, with more across her various social media platforms. In recent months, Alinity has expressed that she has wanted to become a mother, even going as far as trolling viewers with an announcement on Mizkif’s stream, joking that she wants a baby “for content.” She’s expressed her thoughts again, admitting that she’s jealous of Swedish Twitch streamer Kandyland’s recent announcement that she’s having a baby. Alinty admits she’s jealous that Kandyland is having a baby During her stream on October 23, a viewer asked in chat whether Alinty had heard about Kandyland‘s announcement. “I saw Kandyland is pregnant! I’m so jealous. I was like b*tch, you found a baby daddy… where’s mine?” she explained. “Very jealous that she’s got a new baby… I want one.” Following her joke announcement back in June, Alinity and Mizkif wagered $5,000 worth of Twitch subs as they turned parenting into a competition with a realistic baby doll. Mizkif uploaded videos showing how he treated the “kid,” including throwing it down a supermarket aisle, jokingly putting it into the kitchen trash can, and even taking it to the gym to work out. Being that Kandyland’s baby is going to be a real-life human and not a realistic baby doll, it’s safe to say that she’s going to be a bit more careful once the baby is born.

100 Thieves’ The Mob apologizes to Alinity over social media “hate” – Dexerto
100 Thieves’ The Mob apologizes to Alinity over social media “hate” Alinity / The MobAfter Twitch streamer Natalia ‘Alinity’ Mogollon accused 100 Thieves’ content creation group The Mob of double standards in their stance against online harassment and hate, they have since apologized. Alinity has been right at the center of some big ban controversies, some of which she escaped unpunished, during her time as a full-time streamer. One of which included accusations of animal cruelty after she was seen throwing her cat during a livestream. Despite being cleared following an investigation from Saskatoon SPCA, she claims some people still troll her over the incident on a daily basis. After seeing a number of comments posted on Twitter by members of The Mob and other 100 Thieves members – namely Froste, Classy, and JhbTeam – Alinity wasn’t best pleased. Now, though, tensions are nowhere near as high as what they were on December 9, when she first posted about the matter. What happened? In a thread of posts, Froste showed a strong stance against toxic communities online. One of the tweets stated: “Any normal person would be creeped out by a stranger being absolutely obsessed with them.” If you thought gaming was “”toxic”” in the early 2010’s wait until this kind of thing becomes the norm and every creator’s community has the same “”with us or against us”” mentality. Idk the op, but he’s getting hate for speaking the objective truth. You have my respect @jawshalt1 — Froste 💯 (@Froste) December 7, 2020 The comment triggered a reaction from Alinity, who claimed she had been subject to the exact same abuse. At first, she responded: “But you didn’t seem to mind toxicity when mob members made frequent tweets over the span of a year sh**ting on me and sending harassment. Remember my birthday post with a thousand hate messages?” Following on from that, Froste said it was actually Alinity wanting to bring up the cat situation for impressions and views. In a now deleted tweet, he posted: “You’re bringing all this up again for no reason when you cried on the TL for people to stop bringing it up??? If impressions and viewer counts are low just throw your cat against a wall again, don’t try to come at me, sweetie.” Within the series of screenshots that followed on December 9, Alinity highlighted comments from members posting about her on social media. She said this has triggered people to harass her in replies online, to a point where she’s had to block many of them. Her tweet reads: “What if you made a mistake, and got made fun of on the daily by a hate mob? And the hate mob has way more people on their side, to the point where you can’t do anything but accept the harassment and block them; and they laugh about how they got blocked. “And then, that hate mob talks platitudes about positivity and being against harassing people? I think it would upset you enough to feel like you have to say something. Because these people might just hurt someone else.” (1/2)What if you made a mistake, and got made fun of on the daily by a hate mob? And the hate mob has way more people on their side, to the point where you can’t do anything but accept the harrassment and block them; and they laugh about how they got blocked. https://t.co/RzZkOP7urS pic.twitter.com/qwttd9n8oB — Alinity (@Alinity) December 9, 2020 The Mob apologizes to Alinity (December 10) Since those posts were made, a number of apologies have been sent on social media – squashing the beef. To start, Froste claimed that while he defended Alinity on stream, his tweets did direct traffic and for that he said sorry. I didnt harass you when all that went down. I did tweet about the situation just like everyone else & later I defended you on stream about the whole cat throwing thing. Looking back at it you didn’t deserve the level of harassment that u got & Im sorry for the part I played in it — Froste 💯 (@Froste) December 9, 2020 On top of that, JhbTeam posted: “Hey Alinity, I understand you’re frustrated about my past posts and I’m sorry for that. Months ago, I’ve deleted most tweets I made about you because I realized they were wrong and I didn’t want to have that type of stuff on my page.” She soon responded, seemingly happy with the outcome, and urged them to help make the internet a safer place. Thank you, let’s make the internet a safer place for everyone ❤️ — Alinity (@Alinity) December 9, 2020 Lastly, Classy said: “I see your point and apologies for the jokes from a while back. The last tweet I’ve made to you was even back in the summer. I don’t go out of my way to bully you and I’m sorry if it seemed that way. You won’t be seeing anything like that come from me or any of the boys again.” I see your point and apologies for the jokes from a while back. The last tweet I’ve made to you was even back in the summer. I don’t go out of my way to bully you and I’m sorry if it seemed that way. You won’t be seeing anything like that come from me or any of the boys again. — Classify (@Class) December 9, 2020 The internet needs to be made a safer place and reflecting on mistakes is an important part of that process. Three out of three and Alinity seems pretty content with the response, meaning both sides caught up in this drama can move on.

Alinity accepts STPeach fight challenge after OTK teases boxing event – Dexerto
Alinity accepts STPeach fight challenge after OTK teases boxing event Instagram/Alinity/STPeach/PixabayTwitch star Natalia ‘Alinity’ Mogollon has accepted a fight offer from fellow streamer STPeach following the success of the Creator Clash boxing event. The Creator Clash event saw multiple YouTubers duke it out. Headlined by Doctor Mike versus iDubbbz, the boxing spectacle was a huge success, selling out the Yuengling Arena in the process. The popularity of the event has resulted in many other streamers looking to get in on the action including Valkyrae and Mizkif. Not to mention the gaming organization One True King that teased an event on Twitter. After OTK asked which streamers would want to fight if they hosted their own boxing event, STPeach issued a challenge to Colombian-Canadian Alinity. Alinity and STPeach want to fight and kiss at OTK boxing event Shortly after OTK posted its question, STPeach replied saying that she would fight Alinity, but only if one condition was met. “I’ll fight Alinity if I get to kiss her after,” Peach said, tagging her potential opponent on Twitter. Alinity refused to back down from the challenge and accepted the terms and proceeded to emphasize her seriousness. “But like, for real, let’s do it!” she added. Sadly, STPeach didn’t have anything to add, but it seems like the two Twitch stars could very well be about to follow in the footsteps of JustaMinx and Yodeling Haley as more female creators get into the fight game. Of course, OTK hasn’t confirmed that it actually will be hosting its own boxing event, but even if it doesn’t, the two could potentially be on the card Creator Clash 2 in the future. With so many streamers interested in fighting, however, it seems like we’re in for a long-awaited Twitch entry into the world of professional boxing.

“Alien Mermaid” goes viral as viewers don’t know what to believe – Dexerto
“Alien Mermaid” goes viral as viewers don’t know what to believe TikTokA clip of an ‘alien mermaid’ in Puerto Rico has been going viral on TikTok as users are a bit unsure as to what it exactly is. Over the last few years, many TikTokers across the globe have claimed to have had a close encounter with the third kind. In some cases, they’re convinced they’ve witnessed an alien or seen a UFO in their area. While some of the videos do raise some interesting questions, many of them are just classic internet stuff, really. Grainy videos of fast-moving lights or big pieces of construction make it seem like someone has finally made contact with an alien species and are going to end up at Area 51. They are, totally. Well, after the recent “alien encounter” in Las Vegas went viral, TikTok has become obsessed with another clip from Puerto Rico. Though, this one is a little different compared to usual. Puerto Rico ‘alien mermaid’ goes viral on TikTok The original clip was uploaded to TikTok back on June 19. It’s around three minutes in length and shows a mysterious light under the ocean in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico that sparks interest from the men filming it. Unlike some of the other UFO clips that have spread on TikTok, there isn’t any fast movement in this. Instead, the light just continues to glow brightly in one area under the water, prompting the sailors to get close to it and investigate further. From there, there is an outline of something in the water. Naturally, you can’t really see anything too clearly, but that hasn’t stopped viewers from coming up with ideas as to what it might be. “UFO Alien Mermaid,” said one. “Looks like a mermaid,” another viewer said, going away from the alien claims. “For a split second I thought I saw a body, head and glowing eyes,” added another. Other viewers believed they had a more logical explanation as to what it could be like divers or a pool of fish. “What you are witnessing is called bioluminescence. It’s not groundbreaking but it’s pretty cool,” replied another. Despite that, some are still convinced it’s something from another galaxy, but, you know, we’ve not got an alien on camera just yet.

“Alien encounter” goes viral after UFO crash, but is it real? – Dexerto
“Alien encounter” goes viral after UFO crash, but is it real? TikTok/corrymarilynsA “alien encounter” in Las Vegas is going viral on social media for allegedly showing a space monster with big eyes. Aliens and UFOs have been a big topic in recent months. After the whole Chinese spy balloon fiasco, a former intelligence official whistleblower claimed the United States has alien crafts. With the trend hot on people’s minds, footage from April emerged showing police interacting with a family who claimed to see two “aliens” in their yard after an object fell from the sky. While part of the footage was edited out, just recently, a new unmodified version has popped up claiming to show an extra-terrestrial hiding in the background. Alleged alien encounter goes viral on social media The footage was uploaded to TikTok on an account known as ‘corrymarilyns,’ but the profile has since been deleted. However, it’s been reposted to several different pages. In the video, the family opens a gate and is immediately startled by something (or someone) in their yard. After backing off a bit and discussing the situation, the group heads back and films at a forklift that supposedly had “an alien” inside. While the idea of aliens being among us is cool, so far, nothing is confirmed. Of course, it’s unlikely the government would confirm the existence of aliens to begin with, but thus far, there has been no report indicating that there really was an alien encounter on this night. In any case, the truth is out there. It may just take a little bit longer until we get it.

“Alien” Australian beach creature baffles internet as experts try to determine species Instagram: tanalexThe internet has been baffled by a video of a bizarre ‘alien-like’ creature washed up on an Australian beach uploaded by Instagram user Alex Tan, with experts trying to determine what species it actually is. The internet is full of perplexing content, and users never hesitate to share some of the weird and wonderful things they find in their daily lives to share with their followers. That was the case for Instagram user Alex Tan, who in March uploaded a video of the remains of a bizarre creature he’d found washed up on Maroochydore Beach in Australia during his morning walk. “I’ve stumbled across something weird,” he said in the clip. “This is like one of those things you see when people claim they’ve found aliens.” “Genuinely keen to figure out what creature little buddy is,” he added in the caption. View this post on Instagram Commenters were baffled by the strange-looking creature that he reportedly found not long after flooding in the area, and quickly started tagging people they thought could help identify the mysterious “alien-like” animal. “The search for what this “little buddy” continues and has gone international,” Alex wrote on Instagram. “THE PEOPLE NEED ANSWERS. I’m still guessing it’s a possum — my bet of a chicken parmi for any expert that can prove me wrong still stands.” In the caption of a later video, Alex revealed that expert suggestions had included, “brushtail possum, wallaby,” and a “tree kangaroo,” but so far, it seems that no one can settle on a 100% conclusive answer. View this post on Instagram He has been documenting the investigation into what he affectionately calls “buddy” or “little buddy” on his Instagram page, where he along with followers both new and old have been trying to pool their resources and figure out what exactly the creature is and where it came from. Alex’s story has blown up in a big way, and now thousands of people across the globe are eagerly awaiting a conclusion.

Alexia Grace ambushes Astrid Wett at KSI vs Joe Fournier press conference – Dexerto
Alexia Grace ambushes Astrid Wett at KSI vs Joe Fournier press conference Twitter: Misfits Boxing / YouTube: Full MotionOnlyFans stars Alexia Grace and Astrid Wett got into a heated scuffle at the KSI vs Joe Fournier press conference — and now, it looks like a boxing match might be brewing between the two women. YouTube star KSI and pro boxer Joe Fournier are set to touch gloves on Saturday, May 13 after months of trash-talk and posturing. The rivals met up for a press conference two days before fight night — but it looks like another brawl broke out before they could get down to business. During the proceedings, an explosive scuffle took place between OnlyFans creators Alexia Grace and Astrid Wett. Several clips of the altercation have been posted online, which show the women exchanging blows before being separated by security guards. In the clips, Wett claims that Grace “chucked water” on her before promising revenge. “I am coming for you, you f*cking b*tch!” Wett shouts. This scuffle seemed completely random to fans and attendees, sparking some speculation that this could be a set-up for a boxing match between the two women later down the road. Alexia Grace challenges Astrid Wett to boxing match Alexia Grace has since responded to the altercation on social media, posting a now-deleted clip from the brawl before showing off her busted lip that she received courtesy of Astrid. “That punch was pathetic,” Grace said, showcasing a dark spot on the inside of her lip. “That’s all she’s done.” Grace also officially challenged Astrid to a fight shortly thereafter, uploading a second video with the caption, “Fight me Astrid.” “Astrid, punching me outside of the ring was low, but I’ll tell you what’s even worse — you punched me with your bare fists, and that’s all you could do,” she said, showing off her busted lip again. Astrid, on the other hand, seemed to find humor in the ordeal, joking that she “really is Astrid ‘Wett’” after getting water thrown on her in one of her Instagram stories. That’s not all; she also took several shots at Grace over on Twitter, writing in one now-deleted post: “Alexia Grace got absolutely RUINED. Don’t come at me at the press conference, who the f*ck even are you?” While it’s unclear if we’ll see these two in the boxing ring in the future, fans can tune into KSI vs Joe Fournier on May 13. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez addresses GameStop stocks drama live on Twitch – how to watch – Dexerto
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez addresses GameStop stocks drama live on Twitch – how to watch Twitter, @AOC / TwitchNew York congressional representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, also known as AOC, is turning to Twitch to address the recent unfolding situation with GameStop’s $GME stocks, Reddit’s retail investors, and the response by apps like Robinhood. As Twitch continues to gain popularity, so does its stature amongst people outside of the gaming industry. Notably, politicians like AOC and Minnesota’s Ilhan Omar made waves in 2020 when they promoted voter turnout with a massively successful Among Us stream alongside some of Twitch’s biggest streamers. Further, Hasan ‘HasanAbi’ Piker became the most-watched Twitch streamer in November as the political commentator delved into the U.S. presidential election. In light of that emerging political discourse on the platform, it should be no surprise that AOC is turning to Twitch, once again, to discuss the recent GameStop stocks drama. In the past week or so, $GME has skyrocketed (alongside AMC Theatres’ $AMC and Nokia’s $NOK) thanks to retail investors spurred by TikTok and, most prominently, Reddit’s r/wallstreetbets. Now, trading has been halted by apps like Robinhood and Webull — prompting AOC to schedule a “fireside chat” stream on Twitch to discuss the situation. I’ll be hopping on Twitch at 8:30pm tonight to discuss today’s developments with GameStop and retail trading. 👾 Might have a guest or two join – we’ll see. See you there! — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) January 28, 2021 How to watch AOC’s GameStop Twitch stream AOC’s Twitch stream to discuss the GameStop situation will be aired live on Twitch from the politician’s official channel. You can find scheduling details and the stream below. Date: January 28, 2021 – Time: 8:30 p.m. ET (5:30 PT, 12:30 GMT) – As for the stream itself, AOC has gone live and you can tune in here: Having mentioned in her announcement tweet that some guests could make appearances, AOC has since confirmed who those are: Chamath Palihapitiya (venture capitalist and CEO of Social Capital), TheStockGuy and Alexis Goldstein. As the congresswoman explains in her announcement tweet, she intends to “discuss today’s developments with GameStop and retail trading.” This follows a series of tweets discussing Robinhood’s behavior and the general reactions to the massive consequences of this week’s retail trading.

Alexandra Botez shares hilarious solution to her ‘weirdness’ in a relationship – Dexerto
Alexandra Botez shares hilarious solution to her ‘weirdness’ in a relationship Instagram/missbotezChess Master turned Twitch sensation Alexandra Botez broke down laughing when she explained how “just getting hot” was the best relationship advice she could give to her admittedly weird self. Alexandra Botez and her sister Andrea have helped put chess on the Twitch map, frequently playing it, commentating tournaments and even getting signed to Team Envy in the process. It’s not just their chess content that does well either. The two have bumbling personalities that contrast well with each other, resulting in some wild scenarios that need to be seen to be believed. During a recent broadcast, Alex started evaluating herself and how she tends to be a bit of a “weird” person, which can be a major deal breaker for relationships. To compensate for her weirdness, Botez believes the solution is simple. “If I want to be weird, that’s fine. I just have to get more hot,” she smirked, but had a pretty good explanation. “Guys are more willing to put up with you if they find you attractive.” For good measure, she added that this was the case even if you’re “weird as sh*t” and used that to lead into her next point and how she’s improving herself. “So, I’m starting to work out more!” she laughed. “I’m starting to work out more, I’m starting to dress better.” One viewer in chat remarked how Botez’s master plan would only work for the first year of a relationship, but she had a quick retort to that belief. “I’m also very nice,” she grinned from ear to ear. “If you’ve been dating me for a year I’m also very nice and I’m fun, so it makes up for how weird I am. And most of the people I like are weird too!” Hopefully, Botez can find someone just as weird as she is who can appreciate her “just get more hot” philosophy for themselves.

Alexandra Botez pops off after finally beating Magnus Carlsen at chess with major handicap Twitch/BotezLiveTwitch star Alexandra Botez went absolutely crazy after she managed to defeat Magnus Carlsen at chess, but only after numerous tries and a severe handicap. Alexandra Botez is one of Twitch’s most popular streamers with plenty of fans across the globe frequently tuning in to watch her and her sister Andrea play chess. During a recent broadcast, Botez found herself facing off against the world’s top chess star, Magnus Carlsen, and took him on in a series of matches. However, Botez decided to make things a bit more of a challenge for Carlsen by giving him a severe time disadvantage with only thirty seconds of time while she had a full five minutes. Surely she’d dominate, right? Magnus Carlsen crushes Alexandra Botez nonstop Although Alexandra gave herself an advantage, Carlsen was not deterred and simply decided he would just have to play really fast. In a series of matches, the chess icon decimated Botez over and over, forcing her to either resign or even checkmating her. Eventually, after a series of agonizing defeats, the streamer was able to get the upper hand and timed out Carlson, resulting in a ferocious victory cry. “YES! YES! YES!” she screamed out in delight, even posting her win on Twitter with the caption, “Never rematching so that I can say last time we played, I won.” Of course, with such a severe handicap, it’s still very impressive that Mangus was able to win as many games as he did in a row, especially against someone as skilled as Alexandra Botez.

Alexandra Botez fires back at Hans Niemann criticizing her for “degenerate” streams – Dexerto
Alexandra Botez fires back at Hans Niemann criticizing her for “degenerate” streams Instagram/missbotezTop chess creator Alexandra Botez has responded to Grandmaster Hans Niemann by describing his comments as “clear drama bait”. The discussion started when the American chess streamer reacted to the Botez sisters on a recent show, where they joked about how much responsibility they had with their audience. Niemann then sarcastically criticized the Botez’s brand model, saying: “I think that as soon as you get a million subscribers, that’s when you should start promoting gambling, poker, making money off of that, I think that’s a very responsible thing to do with your brand. “It’s promoting degeneracy and helping people get addicted to gambling. And I’m sure those young kids also sign up for poker accounts as well, and gamble all their savings away.” He ended his critique with another sarcastic comment: “They’re so responsible, and I appreciate them not promoting degeneracy at all.” Alex Botez responds to “drama bait” from Hans Niemann In a quote tweet of Niemann’s comments, Alex said that several other large chess content creators had done similar things to what she and her sister had done, and that the criticisms weren’t fair. She said: “Clear drama bait. Poker is the only form of gambling that can be considered a sport. I have never done any other gambling content and minors cannot legally play poker… “Not to mention many chess players have streamed poker because of the strategic overlap (Hikaru, Levy, Magnus).” Han Niemann was recently involved in bizarre allegations that he was using adult toys to cheat in professional competitions, though those allegations were later settled. He remains one of the higher profile chess players on the scene. For more news and updates on what’s going on in the pro chess community, check out the top two players who Magnus Carlsen thinks can truly rival him.

Alexandra Botez gets featured on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver – Dexerto
Alexandra Botez gets featured on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver YouTube: Last Week Tonight, Instagram: MissBotezChess streamer Alexandra Botez appeared on Last Week Tonight thanks to an interview she did with a cryptocurrency founder back in 2022. Crossovers between Twitch streamers and the mainstream media are becoming more and more common, especially now that many streamers are beginning to occupy spaces in burgeoning tech sectors. For instance, Twitch became a hotbed for cryptocurrency marketing with influencers like Trainwreckz and xQc gambling on certain crypto sites, though there was considerable backlash to streams promoting gambling and crypto. This led to a lot of discussion among Twitch personalities on the emergence of crypto, which the mainstream media appears to have picked up on. Alex Botez interview shown on Last Week Tonight Comedian John Oliver, host of Last Week Tonight, has gone after the cryptocurrency sector several times in the past due to the market’s lack of transparency and security. Most recently, he revisited the topic on his April 23 show, where he discussed the implosion of the sector. Oliver focused on three of the biggest crypto companies to fail recently: Terra, Celsius, and FTX. When it came time to discuss Terra, the host leaned into a clip from an interview between Alexandra Botez and Terra founder Do Kwon. In the clip, Botez asks Kwon, “How many of these companies are entering this space just because it’s hot and there’s a lot of funding, versus the ones that will still be here, you know, two to five years later?” Kwon somewhat brazenly answers that “95%” of the newcomers in the crypto space are going to die quickly, then adds, “There’s also entertainment in watching companies die, too.” Of course, as is often the case for those featured on Last Week Tonight, Kwon’s words turned out to be ironically prophetic, as Terra’s value collapsed and Kwon was eventually arrested for fraud. Even though Botez didn’t get a callout from Oliver herself, it’s quite surreal to see that she was the one to ask some of these initial questions to one of the biggest players in the crypto space.

Alexandra Botez defends PogChamps 3 after chess GM slams “sad” Twitch event Instagram: Alexandra BotezAlexandra Botez defended PogChamps 3 after chess grandmaster Yan Nepomniachtchi slammed the “sad” Twitch tournament event, and expressed concern about it replacing “real chess” moving forward. [jwplayer RElMDAap] The internet has been going crazy over PogChamps 3, an online amateur chess tournament filled with Twitch streamers and celebrities including Logic, Pokimane, MrBeast, Myth, and xQc. Chess.com claims it has done wonders for the scene and the broader chess community. They reported a massive increase in the number of people playing chess on their website since the tournament’s first iteration began in 2020. However, not everyone shares their enthusiasm. Chess grandmaster Yan Nepomniachtchi slammed the event, which prompted Twitch streamer and chess master Alexandra Botez to sympathize but disagree with his claims. “With all respect towards Chess.com and [the] amount of work they put into promoting chess, PogChamps 3 [is] popcorn stuff [and] is replacing and displacing any real chess content, and this is just terrifying,” he wrote on Twitter. “I understand where Yan is coming from, especially as someone [who has] worked hard his entire life to get into the world top 10,” wrote Alexandra in response. “It would be absurd if, say, NBA players had less viewership and less sponsorship than streamers playing casual pickup basketball.” “That being said, PogChamps isn’t to blame for a money/general appeal problem chess has always had,” she added. “On the contrary, the event helps grow the pool of viewers potentially interested in elite events like Tata Steel.” That being said, Pogchamps isn’t to blame for a money/general appeal problem chess has always had. On the contrary, the event helps grow the pool of viewers potentially interested in elite events like Tata Steel. — Alexandra Botez (@alexandrabotez) February 22, 2021 It’s not the first time Alexandra Botez has butted heads with chess grandmasters. Alexandra Botez accidentally goes live on Twitch while making thumbnail faces – Dexerto
Alexandra Botez accidentally goes live on Twitch while making thumbnail faces BotezLiveChess streamer Alexandra Botez was left red-faced after she accidentally went live on Twitch while making reaction faces for YouTube thumbnails. 2020 was the year chess entered the mainstream, and very few figures have benefitted from the surge in popularity more than Alexandra Botez. Producing content alongside her younger sister Andrea, the duo’s Twitch channel has grown to nearly 700k followers, while their YouTube is rapidly approaching 300k subs. The pair have provided tutoring to several high-profile Minecraft streamers, including Tubbo and Fundy, and were signed as official content creators for Team Envy in December 2020. However, the elder sibling was left embarrassed on her unplanned March 12 stream when she went to record some reaction faces for thumbnails on her YouTube channel, but ended up going live on Twitch instead. Botez’s face transitioned from shock, to disgust, to confusion, before she realized she had accidentally gone live. There isn’t so much a moment of terror at the moment of realization, as a mild piece of panicked acceptance. “F***!” she shouted, before quickly ending the stream. I accidentally went live instead of recording thumbnails for YouTube🙈 pic.twitter.com/DXkAIdsoPF — Alexandra Botez (@alexandrabotez) March 13, 2021 Several streamers pointed out their experiences of nearly doing the exact same thing, due to OBS having the “Start Streaming” and “Start Recording” options very close to each other. OBS community moderator Matt Gajownik explained how streamers can avoid the same fate as Botez, simply by adjusting their settings to give an extra warning that they are about to go live. “Highly recommend enabling Settings -> General -> ‘Show confirmation dialog when starting streams’,” he said. Highly recommend enabling Settings -> General -> “”Show confirmation dialog when starting streams”” pic.twitter.com/YlPiltOL7x — Matt (@WizardCM) March 13, 2021 It goes to show even the smartest people can make mistakes like this. Back in 2018, psychology professor Jordan B. Peterson accidentally broadcasted an entire conversation with his wife after he inadvertently went live on stream. Of course, Botez was only live for a total of 16 seconds before she realized her mistake, and, unlike Peterson, she has left her livestream up for the time being. It’ll be interesting to see if any of these expressions actually make it onto a YouTube thumbnail; she certainly has a good variety to choose from.

Alexandra & Andrea Botez reveal new LA plans after hitting huge Twitch milestone Instagram: missbotezAlexandra and Andrea Botez, often dubbed the ‘Chess Queens of Twitch,’ have teased a massive change coming in the new year after the pair smashed through their biggest streaming milestone to date. After their meteoric rise to social media fame over the past year, the Botez sisters are now among the most popular streamers on Twitch. Together on their joint ‘BotezLive’ account, the two have now cleared a million followers. While celebrating the milestone with a November 24 IRL stream, Alexandra reflected on their journey together and teased some of the biggest plans still yet to come. Despite starting the channel in 2017 “while [she] was still in college,” it wasn’t until recently that “chess exploded on Twitch,” she explained. Now moving into 2022, the sisters are set for a big move to further capitalize on the hype. Congratulations to @alexandravbotez and @itsandreabotez for crossing 1M followers on Twitch! 🙌 @Envy Jump into the celebration ➡️ https://t.co/M95LArq0HQ pic.twitter.com/RrLrGU1Okd — Chess.com (@chesscom) November 24, 2021 “In January, we’re moving to [Los Angeles],” Alexandra told her community. Not only will this drop them in what’s considered the ‘entertainment capital,’ but they’ll also be moving into a “content house,” she confirmed. There’s no telling who else will be joining the Botez sisters in LA at this stage. Though it’s sure to bring plenty of attention to their content moving forward regardless. Notably, this move will distance the popular streamers from their organization Team Envy. Often appearing in collaborative videos with others in Texas, it appears their presence in Envy content will be limited after relocating. On a similar note, this transition to LA could also see a shift in their own content. While the Botez sisters assured they’ll “keep trying to do chess” moving forward, they’re also eager to “expand into other areas,” Alexandra added. Together, the sisters are both “really grateful” for the opportunity ahead of them in 2022. We’ll just have to wait and see who joins the next big content creator house in LA once things get underway in January.

Alexandra & Andrea Botez apologize for “dumb” human rights comments – Dexerto
Alexandra & Andrea Botez apologize for “dumb” human rights comments Twitch/BotezLiveChess streaming sensations Alexandra and Andrea Botez have apologized for comments they made relating to human rights abuses in Dubai while on tour for the World Chess Championship. On December 6, the chess queens of Twitch faced backlash after Alexandra criticized other countries for their past human rights abuses while stating that the two wouldn’t discuss any of the concerns in the UAE while visiting it. This resulted in some viewers thinking that the two were purposefully remaining silent on issues going on in the Middle East or even supporting slavery. Despite the Botez sisters claiming their comments were taken out of context, the damage had been done and the two opened their December 7 broadcast to issue an apology. Botez sisters apologize for comments on human rights To begin their stream from the World Chess Championship between reigning world champion Magnus Carlsen and challenger Ian Nepomniachtchi, Alexandra clarified her views from the other day. “I wanted to address some of the comments on LSF that were defending or supporting slavery. Nothing justifies human rights violations. Nothing. We obviously do not support slavery of any kind for any reason anywhere,” she said. She further reiterated that her prior comments were taken out of context and that she had made it clear she opposed slavery on multiple streams from the World Chess Championship. “Last time we streamed I made a dumb, off-hand comment that couldn’t be further from what I actually think. It was a moment of poor articulation of a half-baked unrelated thought and out of context, I see how that can be interpreted to mean a variety of different things,” she apologized. The sisters also quashed rumors that they had been paid by the government to be in Dubai, noting that them being there didn’t mean they supported local politics. “It’s a conversation we feel safer having when we’re back home,” the elder sister added. It will be interesting to see what the two end up saying once they are back home in the land of the free, but it’s unlikely we see any more comments from the two until they touch down on American soil.

Alexandra and Andrea Botez say human rights comments out of context following backlash – Dexerto
Alexandra and Andrea Botez say human rights comments out of context following backlash Instagram: missbotezThe Botez sisters, Alexandra and Andrea, came under fire over comments on human rights during a Twitch stream in Dubai but have clarified that “if you don’t listen to the entire discussion, certain nuances are going to be missed.” Alexandra and Andrea Botez are currently in Dubai at the time of writing for the World Chess Championship, an ongoing match between the reigning world champion Magnus Carlsen and challenger Ian Nepomniachtchi. With viewers of their stream discussing the laws and lifestyle in Dubai, and some speaking down on the country, the sisters spoke out about the situation. While they obviously didn’t think their comments would be controversial, it became a huge topic of discussion within the stream, with the pair later having to address it once again to explain their comments. “Here’s all I’m trying to say,” Alex said. “We’re in Dubai, so I’m not going to say anything in particular about this country, the only thing that bothers me is when people from first-world or developed countries sh*t on developing countries for doing things that those developed countries also did in the first place.” Alex did suggest that that’s not the end of the discussion, though, adding that “We will have some conversations when we’re back in the U.S.” Alex clarifies comments That wasn’t the end of it, though. Alex later clarified her comments after some backlash from viewers. Despite saying that “we can chat about certain things at home,” Alex didn’t want to end her point there. “It’s not that ‘other countries did it, so we can do it as well’,” she explained. “This is a longer discussion, we’re not going to be able to … if you just listen to sound bites and don’t listen to the entire discussion, then certain nuances are going to be missed.” Botez backlash With the stream ending just a few minutes later, many fans and critics failed to buy into what the Botez sisters were saying, including questioning why they can’t question human rights abuses. Others didn’t have quite so nuanced a response, with one user on Twitter simply saying that it was “pretty cringe.” https://twitter.com/kiltyourself/status/1467783164160458753 Regardless, the comments made by the streamers seem to have riled a few people up, but there’s no doubt Alex and Andrea will be addressing the situation once they arrive back home in the States.

Alexa Rivera facing backlash after “going missing” for scavenger hunt YouTube video – Dexerto
Alexa Rivera facing backlash after “going missing” for scavenger hunt YouTube video YouTube: Alexa RiveraYouTuber Alexa Rivera is being met with heavy criticism after uploading a video claiming she was “going missing” for 24 hours as part of a scavenger hunt for her friends. Alexa Rivera, who currently has over 5 million YouTube subscribers, uploaded a video on December 26 that boasted a fun scavenger hunt for four of her friends and a winning prize of $1,000. However, the scavenger hunt has gone viral for all the wrong reasons — mostly due to the video’s title and part of its premise, which included Rivera going “missing” for 24 hours. The purpose of the scavenger hunt was to “find” Alexa, and while that alone might not seem outrage-worthy, it even featured a series of mock “missing persons” posters with her photo on them (not to mention the video’s thumbnail). While her friends ran around town solving her scavenger hunt, Rivera stayed overnight in a hotel room to better “sell” her missing status. The winning team eventually discovered Rivera hiding in a festively-wrapped box in her driveway, and although everyone seemed in good spirits after “finding” her, the internet is decidedly less than amused. Rivera’s video soared to the top of YouTube’s trending page on December 29, with commenters decrying the upload’s title and premise as being disrespectful to actual missing persons and their families. “Pretending to be ‘missing’ isn’t a joke,” one commenter wrote. “There are people who go missing for real every day, some of whom are never seen again. No one should ever be making fun or light of real-life situations like these. If I were you, I would take the video down.” “Wow this is so funny, oh my gosh this totally doesn’t hurt families that deal with missing people and family members,” another said. “This is horrible.” “Couldn’t it just have been titled ‘Sending my friends on a scavenger hunt’ or something that isn’t, like, a serious problem?” yet another wrote. Thus far, Rivera has yet to respond to the outrage surrounding her latest upload, which has garnered over 7 million views at the time of writing.

Alex Wassabi reveals biggest concern about fighting iDubbbz – Dexerto
Alex Wassabi reveals biggest concern about fighting iDubbbz DexertoYouTube star Alex Wassabi is gearing up for his second-ever boxing match against iDubbbz as Creator Clash 2 approaches — but he’s got one big concern about his opponent. Creator Clash 2 is on the horizon, marking the second iteration of the charity-based influencer-boxing event that won fans’ hearts and raised over $1.3 million in 2022. Last year, Creator Clash organizer and YouTube star iDubbbz faced off with board-certified family medicine physician and YouTuber Dr. Mike. Both influencers fought hard to the finish, but Dr. Mike ended up coming out on top by unanimous decision from the judges. This year, things are looking a bit different. For Creator Clash 2, iDubbbz has chosen none other than Alex Wassabi as his opponent for the main event. Wassabi has shown off his skills in the boxing ring once before, having defeated Deji back in March 2022 by split-decision. This marks both Wassabi and iDubbbz’s second-ever boxing match — and although Wassabi is confident in his training, he admitted he’s got one big concern about his opponent as he preps for fight night. Alex Wassabi reveals biggest concern about Creator Clash fight Dexerto got the chance to speak with Wassabi at a media workout two weeks ahead of the bout, where he made mention of iDubbbz’s admirable resilience in his last fight against Dr. Mike, citing how many hits his opponent was able to take without hitting the canvas. “I am confident, nervous, and excited, and ready,” he told us in an exclusive interview. “I have not taken him lightly. I’ve been putting everything I could into training.” “The man has a chin. Everybody knows that. He went up against Dr. Mike, who was obviously a lot bigger than him. He was more familiar with the weight they were fighting at, and he was beating iDubbbz down, and he never went down. He didn’t get knocked down. He didn’t give up. He made it through all the rounds.” Despite this size differential, Wassabi is focused on his goal: Taking home the W, no matter how. “I know he has a chin, but the main goal is to win,” he continued. “It doesn’t matter how I win. I’m hoping I get him out of there early, but, uh, we’ll see what happens.” Alex Wassabi says he “got lucky” against Deji Wassabi also let us in on a surprising fact about his previous match with Deji last year. According to the YouTuber, he “got lucky” in his fight against KSI’s little bro, and even says he only sparred about eight times in preparation for the bout. “I’ve never said this before, but I got lucky in that fight,” he revealed. “I was not as prepared as I should have been, but luckily, my opponent was even less prepared than that. I only sparred about eight times in that training camp.” “I have a different coach now, but my coach at the time was like, ‘You need to focus on boxing.’ And I wanted to do strength stuff. I wanted to lift, I wanted to do everything I could. And he’s like, ‘No, if you wanna get better at boxing, you gotta box. You gotta box. …It doesn’t matter if you have more muscle if you don’t know how to throw punches, if you are not accurate.’ Which now, looking back, I’m like, ‘He was correct.’ If I didn’t know how to punch, why does it matter how fast or how strong I was?” This time around, Wassabi’s feeling far more confident in his skills — and he’s “excited” to see what he can do against iDubbbz. “This time, I’ve done a lot of sparring. I’ve probably had, since my camp, I’ve probably had five times as much sparring as I did then. I’ve done strength [training], I do strength like two to three times a week for the last month. I get to work with a lot more pros. I have a home gym at Brick House now. I’m not just bouncing around from gym to gym. So I just feel a lot more prepared and I’m excited to see what I can do. Because you don’t really know until you get in the ring.” Alex Wassabi talks Creator Clash’s charity-driven goals Creator Clash is all about giving back to charity, having raised over a million dollars last year to organizations like the American Heart Association and the Alzheimer’s Association of America. For Wassabi, the ASPCA is where he’s hoping to donate his dough when all is said and done… and he even wants to break 2022’s record. “I like the Humane Society, just to help the animals,” he said. “Charity is like a big thing because… we’re doing this for charity, so we’re not getting paid that much. It’s a very little amount, because we all wanna raise as much as we can.” “Last year they raised, I think, I believe 1.3 million, and the arena was 13,000 people. Now, it’s like 20,000 people. I looked it up to see how much that is. And it’s the same size as the Crypto Arena. So, it’s the same size and it’s almost sold out I think. It’s gonna be crazy. It’s gonna be way bigger. I’m hoping we raise a lot more money and help a lot more people.” iDubbbz says he “belongs” in Creator Clash For iDubbbz, Creator Clash is the perfect fit for his influencer-boxing career. Rather than orchestrating highly-publicized beefs with other content creators, he’s found that he loves the close-knit community of fighters involved in this charity-boxing event, saying he feels like this is where he “belongs.” “I just love the atmosphere,” he said of the event. “I think [Creator Clash is] one of the only positive environments in influencer-boxing. Everything else is all about beef and drama. This one is about positivity, raising money for charity.” “All the fighters are staying in contact. We’re all encouraging each other. ‘Keep going, let’s train. Don’t give up.’ Even with the countdown, we’re like, ‘Oh, there’s three weeks left. There’s four weeks left. You guys keep it up. Keep it up. And I just feel like this is where I belong in boxing.” Fans can tune into Creator Clash 2 via Moment House on Saturday, April 15. Alex Wassabi hits out at KSI for “publicly shaming” Deji after fight loss – Dexerto
Alex Wassabi hits out at KSI for “publicly shaming” Deji after fight loss YouTube: JJ Olatunji / TheSync PodcastYouTuber Alex Wassabi has called out KSI for “publicly shaming” his younger brother Deji online after he lost their UK vs. USA boxing match. On March 5, Deji Olatunji and Alex Wassabi stepped into the ring for their anticipated Showstar UK vs. USA match, and it was ultimately Wassabi who ended up taking away the split decision victory. Although Deji had originally said he would retire from boxing if he lost the match, he later went on to reveal that he plans to continue fighting with the aim of getting a win for his loyal supporters. Alex Wassabi is the winner, taking the match against Deji by split decision! pic.twitter.com/G9yDbzZWFT — Dexerto (@Dexerto) March 5, 2022 In a video after the event, Deji’s older brother KSI gave his thoughts on the loss, revealing he was “disappointed.” “Deji, I’m disappointed,” he said. “That’s honestly how I feel, man. I’m sorry if that’s not what you wanna hear, but it’s the truth.” He added: “I’m not gonna lie to you — I expected more from you.” However, winner Alex didn’t agree with KSI’s approach, and in an episode of The Sync Podcast he called out the YouTuber for publicly criticizing him. “It’s just like, come on man, be a big brother. Be a decent person,” he said.” Why’d you have to tear him down. He’s just reiterating what everybody is saying. You should be the big brother, you should be helping him, lifting him up, being like, ‘don’t worry about it, it’s just a fight.’” Topic starts at 12:38 “Why don’t you say that offline? Why do you have to publicly shame him and not give him anything encouraging.” He went on to give his own opinion on Deji, saying: “He underestimated me. I don’t think he’s a bad fighter, he just has bad matchups.” Alex suggested that Deji should fight someone like Bryce Hall, who lost to Austin McBroom back in 2021, and added that if that fight were to ever happen, he would bet $20,000 on Deji. With Wassabi challenging KSI to a fight of their own, fans will be waiting to see whether these two ever end up stepping into the ring together.

Alex Wassabi eyes up Temperrr fight as Deji “doesn’t want” boxing rematch – Dexerto
Alex Wassabi eyes up Temperrr fight as Deji “doesn’t want” boxing rematch Alex Wassabi has claimed that Deji dodged a rematch as he gears up for a bout with Mayweather in November. The YouTube star won his first professional fight earlier this year by a split decision against Deji, and was recently set to go up against older brother KSI. However, after picking up a concussion injury, the 32-year-old was forced to pull out of his scheduled bout just a couple of weeks before the big night. Although KSI has shut down any possibility of the two fighting in the future, Wassabi is still eyeing up a return to boxing soon — leaving it up to his fans to decide his next opponent. Alex Wassabi claims Deji declined rematch On October 13, Wassabi put up a poll on Instagram for his fans to decide who he should face in the ring next. Naming Idubbz, Bryce Hall and FaZe Temperrr as potential opponents, Wassabi’s fans instead wanted to see him rematch Deji. But, apparently, Deji isn’t up for going at it again. “This is what I expected. Deji doesn’t want the rematch,” he posted on his story. “Bryce Hall wants to 0-1. @Temper let’s run it.” While a rematch between the two would certainly be interesting, especially after Deji’s convincing TKO win in his last fight, he instead has his eyes set on bigger fish than Alex Wassabi. Currently, he’s preparing to take on legend Floyd Mayweather in Dubai on November 13 — a fight absolutely nobody expected. It’s unknown if we’ll actually see Wassabi face Temperrr, though he definitely seems keen to do so.

Alex Wassabi challenges Guava Juice to boxing match after defeating iDubbbz – Dexerto
Alex Wassabi challenges Guava Juice to boxing match after defeating iDubbbz Alex Wassabi managed to pull off the win over iDubbbz at Creator Clash 2 and followed the dub with a callout no one saw coming, challenging fellow YouTuber Guava Juice. Alex Wassabi is a name that has floated around the influencer boxing space, but we haven’t seen much in terms of actual fights. He beat Deji at the Showstar Boxing event in 2022 and was slated to take on ‘the nightmare’ KSI, but an injury put a stop to the fight before it could come to fruition. But when Creator Clash 2 was announced, iDubbbz revealed his opponent in the Main Event would be none other than Mr. Wassabi. And while the fight came down to the judges, Wassabit pulled off the victory via majority decision. This gave Alex an opportunity to call out an opponent on the big stage, similar to how many fighters had done throughout the night. And while some callouts were predictable – at least for those in that creator’s community – Alex’s challenge was lobbied at a creator no one saw coming. Alex Wassabi calls out Guava Juice When asked who he wanted to fight next, Wassabi explained that he got the idea for his next opponent from a sparing partner. He claimed that his partner had also been sparing another creator for a year, and that he was getting pretty good. “And that guy goes by the name of Guava Juice. Formerly known as Roi Wassabi. Remember me? I know you just had your wedding. You’re on your honeymoon. When you get back, get to work. I’ll be waiting.” For those who don’t know, Alex Wassabi – aka Alex Burriss – used to share a YouTube channel with Guava Juice called Wassabi Productions. The duo was active from 2006 until 2016, when Guava chose to leave the channel in pursuit of his own goals on his solo gaming channel. The channel eventually became what is known as “Wassabi,” Alex’s current main channel. It has amassed over 11 million subscribers. While Guava Juice is on the cusp of surpassing 17 million.

Alex Wassabi calls out KSI for boxing match after beating Deji – Dexerto
Alex Wassabi calls out KSI for boxing match after beating Deji YouTube: KSI/Instagram: alexwassabiJust days after beating Deji in the main event of the Showstar Boxing UK vs USA event, Alex Wassabi has now called out Deji’s older brother and YouTube phenom KSI. The win over Deji was Wassabi’s first official boxing fight, and while things started off fairly evenly, it became very clear that Wassabi was the better boxer as the fight got going. While the Showstar boxing event may have been marred with controversy, that hasn’t put Wassabi off from getting back in the ring. KSI is often seen as the forefather of YouTube boxing, and while Jake Paul may have eclipsed his fame in the ring, KSI is still the go-to for influencers looking to step up a rung when it comes to boxing. KSI has been called out by all manner of YouTubers and online content creators, and while he still has his sights set on a match with Jake Paul eventually, Wassabi is the latest to reach for that brass ring. After the Brit posted a video about his younger brother’s fight with Alex, Wassabi accused him of “kicking your brother while he’s down” — to which KSI responded by saying that Deji “should have wiped the floor with him.” He then posted to his story, saying that it’s time to “find out who the better boxer is,” directly calling for KSI to meet him in the ring. KSI hasn’t yet publicly responded to Wassabi’s call-out, but he’s never been one to shy away from talking about these things. Expect a response from KSI at some point and, if Wassabi’s plans work out, we might be seeing the two of them in the boxing ring at some point soon.

Alex Wasabi threatens to knock Deji out over recent ‘Breakup’ video YouTuber Oladeji ‘Deji’ Olatunji uploaded a video criticizing popular YouTubers’ ‘breakup’ videos, where he poked fun at video celebrities for using their relationships as ‘cash-grabs.’ One of the YouTubers featured in this video was Alex Wassabi, another popular personality on the platform. Deji took a crack at his breakup with now ex-girlfriend Lauren, saying that their breakup video was a “nice, easy way to get views,” and cited the three total videos the couple had made on the subject. Lauren didn’t take kindly to the accusation that she would fake a breakup for views. She called Deji out in a Tweet, where she called his videos “pathetically desperate.” He even went on to say that he’d knock Deji’s “pathetic, untalented ass out” on their next meeting, and told him to stay in his brother’s shadow.

The comments would be very toxic, so the best thing is that they do not say anything.”

Alex Warren responds to claims that Hype House reality show tanked Netflix stock – Dexerto
Alex Warren responds to claims that Hype House reality show tanked Netflix stock YouTube: Alex Warren / NetflixTikToker Alex Warren has denied rumors that the announcement of the upcoming Hype House reality show caused Netflix’s stocks to drop, following a huge amount of backlash toward the show. The Hype House is one of the biggest content houses on TikTok, consisting of creators like Thomas Petrou, Chase Hudson, Larray, and many more. With millions of followers combined, Netflix even decided to work with the group on a reality show, to show the crazy behind the scenes of living and working in a TikTok content house. On April 22, Netflix announced the upcoming project, but they were met with an extraordinary amount of backlash. “Why are you giving these irresponsible TikTokers a series? No one asked for this,” one commenter wrote, another saying, “literally nobody wants to watch this.” Some even went as far as to say they would be canceling their Netflix subscription, slating the company for cutting other popular shows, and launching the Hype House series. People even started attributing a drop in Netflix’s stocks to the announcement of the show, theorizing it dropped as a result of people canceling their subscriptions. netflix stocks after they announced their hype house show 🧍♀️ pic.twitter.com/GAhkg3hdwJ — melina ☻ (@91TEMPORARYFX) April 24, 2021 However, Hype House member Alex Warren was quick to shut down the claims. “I keep seeing rumors that our show caused Netflix stocks to drop. The timing of the drop in stocks and the announcement of the Hype House reality show were so close together that there were many who believed the two were correlated, but Alex made sure to clear up the rumors. While the show has received a huge amount of backlash, it appears that everything will continue to go ahead as normal. What exactly the show will be like remains to be seen, but many are waiting in anticipation to see whether it meets their expectations.

TikTok star Alex Warren claims he never got paid for Hype House content – Dexerto
TikTok star Alex Warren claims he never got paid for Hype House content Alex Warren / InstagramTikTok star and former Hype House member Alex Warren appeared on a podcast where he claimed that he never made any money from the Hype House. He went on to say that founder Thomas Petrou was the only one making money from the group. The Hype House was one of the most famous content houses on social media at one point — but time has withered the former TikTok giant into a shadow of its former self. Known for birthing stars like Charli D’Amelio and Addison Rae, the Hype House was a collective of TikTok personalities based in Los Angeles, California, founded in December 2019. Their TikTok account has over 21.1 million followers and 826.2 million likes across their videos. According to the TikTok Money Calculator, the Hype House earns an average of $12,667 – $21,112 per TikTok post – although how accurate these estimates are can’t be verified. Regardless, according to former Hype House member Alex Warren, no one in the Hype House was actually paid any money – except for one of the founders. Alex Warren claims Thomas Petrou was the only on earning money from Hype House Appearing on the Zach Sang Show podcast, former Hype House member Alex claimed that he, nor any of the other members, received any of that money. Alex then went on to claim that the founder of The Hype House, Thomas Petrou, was the only one taking home part of the earnings. When asked if he ever made money from The Hype House, Alex replied: “No, never. No one made money of Hype House, except from Thomas.” “How the f**k does that work?” Zach asked. “It was the whole thing where [Thomas] controlled the finances,” Alex replied. “Pretty much, he just said, you know, all the money will be used as a Hype House account. We had a Hype House account for the Hype House purchases and stuff, and he just controlled it.” “But we got paid like from brand deals,” he added. But he went on to say that, even though none of the creators in the house got paid from the Hype House account, he claimed that Thomas paid himself from the account. “Is that why the Hype House died, or did it just run its course?” co-host Dan Zolot asked. Not revealing much, Alex said: “A lot of us signed NDAs, so no one is gonna talk about it.” Former Hype House members and its founders are currently in the midst of a $300,000 lawsuit after their former landlords accused them of causing damages to the house. Since then, a new “Revenge House” has been created in its place.

On August 28, a TikTok quickly went viral after it was posted by @jillyyyygirllll, showing a before and after of a photo posted by Alex. The clip was accompanied by Alex’s own voice, saying “girls we need to start owning what we look like. Tweak a couple things if you’ve got a pimple or something, but don’t morph your entire body.” The TikTok has over 2.3 million views at the time of writing, and so it managed to provoke quite a response – with Alex now responding to the backlash. https://www.tiktok.com/@jillyyyygirllll/video/7001268177086844165 Alex Cooper sent hate over photoshop On her latest episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, titled “I Got Caught Photoshopping,” Cooper explains that she was surprised to see a particularly brutal message from someone on Instagram. “I go onto Instagram and open my DMs and there’s a DM from a girl that says ‘go f**k yourself, you should kill yourself, you are the biggest f**king poser,” the message read. “You say you don’t edit your photos, you’ve been exposed you f**king c**t.” The person also sent a link to the TikTok. Topic starts at 6 minutes. Cooper also explained the backstory behind the image in question. It had been taken during a night out in Las Vegas for her birthday, but that she was “uncomfortable” with how some of the shots from the evening had turned out. “I didn’t like how my body looked. That night I felt so good and confident and happy, and then I saw those photos and I was upset. So, she used a tool called FaceTune to edit the photo, in an attempt to portray a more “hourglass” shape to her body. “I saw those photos and I was upset but immediately Lauren wanted to post it and I said hold on, I want to edit this photo. I have edited photos before, I don’t edit absolutely every single one, but I absolutely edit photos.” Unfortunately, her friend Lauren later posted a bunch of images from the trip, unedited, which is when fans noticed the discrepancy between the two photos. Alex has since deleted the controversial image in question from her Instagram page.

Alex Botez claims Michelle Khare concealed boxing experience ahead of Creator Clash 2 – Dexerto
Alex Botez claims Michelle Khare concealed boxing experience ahead of Creator Clash 2 Alex Botez has claimed that Michelle Khare did not tell Andrea about a year’s worth of boxing experience in the run-up to their fight at Creator Clash 2, and instead said that she was also a beginner. In a stream before yesterday’s fight, Alex said that Andrea did not know about Michelle’s previous experience with boxing until her stream chat pointed it out. During the Creator Clash 2 event on Saturday 15 April, Michelle won the fight against Andrea on points. Alex Botez claims Michelle was “misleading” about her boxing experience “Michelle also said she was a beginner. She left out the fact that she had been boxing for a year. “For me, that was misleading. To think it’s ok, when you’re on a phone call, to not put out all the facts? Especially when people are putting their body out on the line? “It’s one thing to hustle someone in chess, it’s another to hustle them when they could get physically hurt. However, there didn’t appear to be any ill will between Andrea and Michelle after the fight, with both of them complimenting the other on Twitter. Andrea posted: “Got a cute new makeup look, personally done by the legend Michelle Khare. I had 2 months of training & fought my heart out. Wouldn’t change a thing about tonight, congratulations Michelle.” Meanwhile Michelle complimented her challenger, saying: Andrea Botez broke my nose and is a freaking warrior.” For more news and updates on the Creator Clash, check out our coverage of all the fights here.

From Kaggy to CyYu, Alejandro Saab’s fingerprints are all over online fandom – Dexerto
From Kaggy to CyYu, Alejandro Saab’s fingerprints are all over online fandom Twitter: CyYuAlejandro Saab’s journey through content creation is a whirlwind of different faces and paths. But the voice actor and VTuber has remained true to himself through it all, forging a unique identity from any other online creator. Alejandro Saab. KaggyFilms. CyYu. Those are just a few of the names the energetic voice actor, content creator, and now VTuber goes by. All of those names represent an era of his very storied life. There’s hardly a thing in the creative fields he hasn’t done. He’s got his fingerprints all over the anime you watch, the streams you throw on in the background, and the early days of YouTube you reminisce about. It all spurs from one nagging voice in the back of his head, wanting to “play pretend” and make others laugh as a result. “My [voice acting] teacher, Richard Horvitz… described it [in a] way that made me realize ‘oh this is the thing I want to do’ and it’s just playing pretend so well you get paid,” he explained to Dexerto. “And I was like ‘Wow, I kind of love that actually.’” And while the early days were very heavy on the roleplay element, as time has gone on, Saab has opened up to share more parts of himself. It’s now less about playing pretend all the time — he has his characters — but being genuine to the audience who has followed him for more than a decade. No matter the identity you know him by, Saab has likely had an effect on your internet life. And he was candid in sharing how they all lead to one uniform identity he holds today. KaggyFilms, the YouTuber Let’s start back in 2010. Kaggy, as he was begrudgingly known (the full name was Kagmast3r, the shortened version took some time to get used to), was a high schooler with a dream. He was making machinima, a staple of early content creation online using video games to make short films. It was popularized by the likes of Rooster Teeth with their Red vs Blue series in Halo in the 2000s (which Kaggy also dabbled in), but its roots are set in even earlier titles like Quake. The format continues to this day through films set in Minecraft and Fortnite. After a few months producing under the KaggyFilms moniker, he got the opportunity to join the official Machinima network, then one of the behemoths of YouTube. As a 14-year-old, it was one hell of a way to earn some pocket money. “They were like ‘Do you want to upload on our channel? We will give you money!’ And I was like sure. It was depending on the views obviously, but they had this subsidiary called MachinimaRealm which was where all the fantasy stuff went up.” Things really took off when commentary was looped into his content. It eventually overtook everything he did. KaggyFilms became a place for Dragonball Z reactions, and whatever flavor of the month games or anime took his interest. It wasn’t a surefire success, given how back then reaction content was seen with more ire than it is even nowadays. But literally overnight, Kaggy’s popularity skyrocketed. He went from 1,000 YouTube subs to 10,000, no small feat in the platform’s early days. It was more than just pocket change for him too — those early YouTube payouts were giving him a couple thousand dollars a month. Instead of having to work a fast food or retail job, he could make these fun films and random reactions. “A buddy of mine was like ‘Have you tried doing commentary?’ At the time there was a stigma to doing commentary if you were also making Machinima, like ‘that’s the lazy content!’ You know, the stigma people have to reaction content. “Then one day I did it for fun, I think it was parkouring in Minecraft, and people really liked it.” This was creatively liberating for Kaggy, and the values are something he’s carried with him throughout his journey through voice acting, VTubing, and beyond. “I’m the kind of guy who is like ‘This seems like fun, I’m going to try it out!’ I get so many people being like ‘How do I get into voice acting? How do I get into VTubing? How do I get into content creation?’ And I’m like ‘Just try it.’ Because that’s what I do,” he explained. “I’ve gone through different eras of trying stuff, and if I don’t like it then I don’t do it. If I love it, I keep doing it and I push for it. I started off with Machinima because I liked the idea and I was like ‘Oh this gives me a creative idea to do this.’ The commentaries I was a little against, but I tried it and I liked it. Same with reactions, same with streaming. “There was even a time where — I love animated stories on YouTube. Like JaidenAnimation, TheOdd1sOut, Let Me Explain Studios. And I was like ‘I have stories to tell, let me try and use this failed animation degree I never got.’ I did enjoy it. The problem was I didn’t have the time.” That’s not to say everything he did on YouTube tickled his fancy. He tried puppeteering, which while he enjoyed it, the content matter of promoting dubbed anime didn’t really click. He also tried putting the news anchor hat on, and while he could pull off the voice, it was soul-draining. “There was a time period where I was reporting on Dragonball news like ‘this just in, they just announced a new Dragonball movie! What could it be? We don’t know!’ And I felt like ‘This just isn’t me.’ I was clearly trying to play the algorithm.” But this era of Saab’s life, as Kaggy, is one filled with nostalgia. Content creation was simpler, especially before the YouTube ‘adpocalpyse’. While he’s not rushing to turn back the clock — the new era of content online has been a boon for him personally and professional — there is a twinge in his voice highlighting a certain innocence he misses. “It was such a different time,” he continued. “I had this conversation with people that now a lot of bigger YouTubers — MrBeast, Ludwig, even CDawg — they make these bombastic shows, it’s almost like TV. “MrBeast right, It’s like ‘welcome to my crib’ but times 20. Ludwig with his Chessboxing, CDawg with his auctioning stuff, and that’s not even to include all the VTubers. There’s a lot of tournaments with money involved, and I’m like ‘Wow, YouTube and Twitch has just become television, independent television.’ There are sponsors, but it’s crazy how different it is.” Alejandro Saab, the VA Animation wasn’t just a passion for Saab. It was his purpose in life. So it was a shock to him when he slowly fell out of love with the creation of animation. “I have always been a sucker for animation. As a kid, I was a fan of Looney Tunes, Fairly OddParents, Spongebob, TMNT, so all these different cartoons and even anime. For the longest time, I thought I wanted to make the cartoons. “Up until college I was studying animation, and on the side in high school I got into acting and I was like ‘I really like this too.’ And after a year of going to Savannah College of Art and Design, which is a really good animation school, I didn’t have fun. “For me, when it comes to something I want to do with my life, if I’m not having fun then I don’t want to do it. So after a year of essentially animating a sack of flour and getting a B-, I was like ‘I didn’t have fun at all doing that’ so I dropped out.” It was perhaps the best decision he ever made. Kaggy didn’t die the moment Saab went to animation school, but what sprouted was perhaps the thing he is most known for — voice acting. He could still “play pretend” in those animated universes, but use his booming voice instead. Saab’s credits are some of the most illustrious in English voice acting, especially in the anime dubbing sphere. My Hero Academia, Haikyuu, Tokyo Ghoul, Demon Slayer, Boruto, and Vinland Saga are just some of the anime he’s lent his voice to. Games-wise, you’ve heard him in Granblue Fantasy, Borderlands, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Fire Emblem, God of War: Ragnarok, and the Persona series. But there’s a few gigs that stand out above the rest for Saab. “Emotionally, I have a lot of projects that I’ve had the honor of working on. “Horimiya [where he plays Izumi Miyamura], to this day, is one of my dear favorite ones because it means so much to me,” he said. “It’s about this high school kid falling in love and at the time I was recording the show, I was at the point in my life where I was about to propose to my now-married spouse [Hayden Daviau]. In the show they essentially propose and I was like ‘Oh, I’m in that part of my life!’” Then there’s Genshin Impact. In the online sphere, this was probably the gig that catapulted Saab to true stardom. “Genshin made people realize ‘Oh I’ve been hearing this guy for years,’” he explained. “I’ve had so many people come up to me at conventions, or on Twitter or my stream, and they’re like ‘Wait you voiced all these characters?’ “The crazy part is voicing Cyno has made people realize ‘Oh he’s voiced my childhood’ or ‘he’s voiced like 50 bajillion things I’ve watched but it didn’t register.’” It’s no secret before he got the invite to become the rather blunt General Mahamatra, Saab was a massive Genshin fan. He was playing the game on stream, talking about it online. And in the background, he was desperately trying to get his voice into the game. He had read lines for Aether, Diluc, Kaeya, Ayato, and Zhongli, but “none of them stuck”. This leads us to one very serendipitous audition story, where sometimes just showing up is all you need to do because life has a way. “I was at a convention… I remember I got those auditions, my voice wasn’t up to snuff, and I had to do it in the hotel room because they were due that weekend. This was in May 2022, I hear nothing. “August comes around, Cyno is supposed to come out second week of September. I get a phone call, it’s the director. He’s like ‘Hey, we’re trying to cast this character. We’ve been having a bit of trouble. And we’re looking for someone who is Middle Eastern as well.’ And I’m okay, cool, that’s me. And they’re like ‘Cool, we’re going to have a callback for you next week.’” The callback went well, leading to “the longest week” of Saab’s life. “It was the last week of August, Friday morning, I get an email. And they were like ‘Hey, congratulations, we want you as Cyno. We need you all of next week from 10AM to 2PM every day.’ I remember when I read that email, I started crying. I really wanted this character and I really wanted to be in Genshin. “The moment we finished recording, the following days, they announced I was voicing Cyno, and they announced he was coming out the week after. And I had so many people go like ‘Oh my god, how did you not tell me? You’re the best at keeping secrets!’ And I was like ‘keeping secrets? I found out a week ago!” However while Genshin Impact (and Honkai: Star Rail, where he voices Jing Yuan) have gained him online cred, it’s Hell’s Paradise which is giving him the chance to meet fans at conventions. “When I was recording it, I was trying to get back to my partner because I was doing a lot of traveling and they were stuck in one place and I was like ‘Oh man, this is life imitating art,’” he explained about the show’s sentimentality to him. “I love this show, and it can be a bigger title, but people don’t know that it has an anime or even a dub. “Look at Jujutsu Kaisen or Demon Slayer. When the Infinity Train saga came out, way more people talked about it than they did the first season. Same with My Hero Academia. It’s a trend I’ve noticed while working in the dub space and at conventions, usually when it comes to their first seasons, folks don’t even realize it because folks are just waiting for more episodes so they can binge it.” The evolution of English voice acting This led us down a tangent on the voice-acting space and how it’s evolved since Cyyu got his break in 2015. He’s seen trends come and go, opinions evolve. So let’s get one of the more contentious ones out of the way: dubs versus subs. There are many purists who believe Japanese is the only language you can listen to anime (or anime-style content) in. Never mind the fact the medium has taken hold in China, Korea, and other nations. Early on in English-speaking anime fandom, dubs were cast aside. Even classic quality examples like YuYu Hakusho or Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood were neglected. However, audiences have slowly warmed up to them over time. “Folks will complain but it’s contradicting how they all feel differently. Some people will be like ‘This guy’s voice is too deep, this guy’s voice is too goofy, it should be deeper’ — all talking about the same character.” “One of my buddies had to switch the Dragonball dub to Japanese. It wasn’t because the dub was bad, but it was because he said ‘I’m sick and tired of hearing the same fighting line in loop every time.’ And I was like ‘interesting.’ Because you can’t understand it, even though they’re saying the same thing identically, it’s fine.” That’s where simuldubs — dubbed shows dropping at the same time as their original language release — come into play. Saab recounts one specific conversation he had with a director about why there was a big push towards making sure there were “same-day dubs.” “He told me it was all about first impressions. Because the first voice you hear out of a character, whether it’s Japanese or English, that’s the blueprint for that character. “There are people who prefer the Japanese or the English — hell some people will watch the Spanish dub, they’ll still see the English subtitles. I don’t think there is a wrong answer. You can watch it in any language, because it’s your preference.” This brought us to diversity in voice acting. Saab comes from a Middle Eastern background, something which has led him to be cast in roles like Cyno. But he’s not been specifically pigeonholed to his identity. “One thing I’m not a fan of is how folks are like ‘Oh this is just a diversity cast for the sake of wokeness.’ And I’m like ‘shut the f**k up.’ If they’re the best for the job, they’re the best for the job, but you have to put some respect on their culture and the character.” This issue is especially prevalent for LGBT (and even more specifically transgender) voice actors. It is notoriously hard in entertainment to be cast in a role that affirms your identity. More often, trans voice actors get typecast too. But the thing about diversity in voice acting isn’t that more actors can be involved — it’s that anyone can play any character. “The end goal wasn’t that we limit actors to these specific generalizations. The point was everybody gets equal opportunity. Doesn’t matter what your background is, everybody does. I know a lot of folks are like ‘the best person is the one for the job’, that should be it, but it can’t be it if not everyone gets the same opportunity.” We ended on AI in voice acting, something Saab has used his platform numerous times to condemn: “I don’t believe AI has a place in the arts. “As a tool? Yes. But creating stuff, stealing from artists or voice actors or sculptors… if it’s stealing it’s not right. If it’s used as a tool [it’s fine], like in animation with tweening where you place one thing here and then there, and then it’ll automatically do the movement animation.” That’s not to say all voice acting is bad — CyYu cited an example with Ironmouse creating a text-to-speech program with Connor ‘CDawg’ Colquhoun which was “consensual”. But it gets murky in the case of James Earl Jones. “He consented to AI being used for Darth Vader for the Kenobi show. And I understand the reason is probably because he got millions in a buyout and he’s giving that back to his family — that’s my headcanon. But you took the moment of passing the torch to a newer actor… it’s a double edged sword because depending on who you ask, someone is selfish. “Unfortunately in the future, it’s going to be a bigger issue, but there’s so much sh*t that’s not cool. A lot of illegal sh*t. Taking people’s voices, faces, art, their hard work. Hell, Despicable Me made fun of it! That was the funniest thing. So I’m just like ‘bro, get your sh*t together.’” CyYu, the VTuber Now let’s flash forward to 2021. Saab is wanting to branch out creatively yet again, and here appears VTubers. He fires off a rogue tweet asking whether he should get involved, and the aforementioned Ironmouse finds him and eggs him on. While his mind was already semi-made up by the time he sent the tweet, the encouragement was a very wanted push. What came next was building the plane while it was flying. What would he use as his design? What did he need to set things up? Well it started with his cover band We.B. He had the CyYu character mascot as a frontman, and so why not turn it into a moving character like the dozens he’s dubbed before? “Worst case scenario I don’t like VTubing and I have a mascot for the cover band. Best case scenario, I have a VTuber and a mascot for the cover band,” he laughed. “It stemmed from there, and then I really enjoyed it — a lot more than I thought I would. I’ve been doing this for almost three years, and in these three years, I’ve found way more success VTubing than anything I did with IRL content creation.” CyYu gave him the creative freedom he chased since he was 14 making those machinima back in 2010. No longer was his content tied to the algorithm game, CyYu could do what he wanted and people would be there for him. “I enjoy it a lot more because a good amount of my audience doesn’t care what I play or what I talk about, they’re like ‘I’m here for you because you’re funny’ and I appreciate that. With Kaggy, it was either Dragonball, reactions, or nothing. “I’ve never hidden the fact that I’m not who I am. People knew right away ‘oh this is Alejandro, this is Kaggy.’ Some people didn’t, some people still don’t know which is funny. “But apart from all of that, I feel like I can play and do whatever and people will listen rather than just ‘oh it’s not Dragonball? I’m out of here. Or he’s not reacting to so-and-so? I’m out of here.’ People actually want to get to know me, funnily enough.” CyYu, as a character, also gave him the chance to branch out and build new relationships. “I’ve started collabing with different groups of people because my older friends — and we still talk — they’re all in the Dragonball space and Yu-Gi-Oh. I definitely collab with VTubers, but the main group I collab with is Monarch, Jowol, and MissShadowLovely. “The benefit of that group with Liz, Jowol, Ama is I’ve known them before VTubing. I’ve known Ama for years, Liz I’ve known for less than that, and while Jowol is definitely the newest we talked a lot prior and we’ve hung out a few times so I’m used to him. “I can’t remember who wrangled us together, but we all clicked and it was super fun.” How three threads connect into a unified identity Whenever CyYu goes to a convention now, he can date his fans by the way they introduce themselves to him. “I’ve had people who will recognize me as CyYu. Some will know me as both CyYu and the voice actor, but some just know me as the voice actor and they had no idea I was a VTuber. Then there are some people who are like ‘Oh I loved you as Kaggy, I remember back in the day…’ and I’m like ‘damn you’ll bring back the past.’ “There are a small group of people — well, a good amount of people will always be embarrassed to bring it up — but they’ll be like ‘yeah I knew you from your dark days’ and what the hell are those? But I used to voice this character named Jean from the Aphmau series. “Aphmau is this YouTuber and she’s very popular and she used to do essentially Machinima, roleplays of these Minecraft stories she’d write. They’re like ‘I loved you as Jean, he was so mean’ and yeah he was kind of a d*ck and I loved it. “But it’s very interesting that after all these years it’s come clashing into ‘Oh, you’re all the same person? That’s really cool, I didn’t know I was a fan of you for so long until I came up to the table and realized.’” Not only are his own personal worlds colliding, the industries he works in are as well. With the rise of TikTok, voice actors have hopped onto short-form content. What was once frowned upon within the community is now seen as a necessity. To CyYu, this a funny reversal: “This is going to be the most boomer-sounding talk ever — when I was starting out in voice-over, there was a stigma towards being a content creator when you’re a voice actor. “It still happens. I got that because of Persona 3 Reload, where they’re like ‘Oh they got rid of so-and-so for a YouTuber?’ Or it happened to YongYea for being the voice of Kiriyu. I used to get it from certain peers where they’re like ‘Oh you do YouTube? Okay, that’s whatever I guess.’ “I do find it ironic because now voice actors are wanting to get into content creation or VTubing because it’s like ‘Oh I could make money from home and then I will be free to be scheduled.’ I’ll get messages about ‘how do I start in VTubing’ and I’m like ‘Just don’t spend $10,000 at once.’ “I’ve even had fans ask me ‘to be a voice actor, do I have to make content on YouTube?’ No you don’t have to do that. Do it if you want to, but you don’t have to.” With all his lived experience, CyYu is now using his platform to share his insights on the industry — much like he did above on the hot topics in voice acting. “There are times where I want to treat this as an escape from the real world because the real world can be a bit scary, especially with the current climate. “But I try to educate them on the industry and once you get the ball rolling, how busy it is. I would stream for longer hours if I had the time, but my day goes from usually 9AM until 6PM. Recently I had to go from 10AM to 10PM just doing voice-over.” If you ask CyYu now whether he would travel the same path he did, or whether he would just insert himself into one identity and finesse that, the choice is simple. “I feel like if I didn’t do the KaggyFilms stuff, I could not have done the voice-over stuff. I wouldn’t have had the means to do the voice-over. And if I didn’t do the voice-over stuff, then my VTubing stuff wouldn’t have taken off as much as it has.” And although he wears many hats and is known by many names, just don’t call him a Peppa Pig fan. “So many folks give me Peppa Pig garbage and they know it will upset me,” he laughed. “One of them gave me a heart-shaped bouquet with a Peppa Pig in the center. “I enjoy the meme. If I didn’t, I would not be a good sport about it. But so many folks give me Peppa Pig stuff that I’m like… I can’t be mad. I continue to tell the stories online. This is on me.”

Streamers react to Aldi’s questionable ‘Teatime Takedown’ campaign – Dexerto
Streamers react to Aldi’s questionable ‘Teatime Takedown’ campaign Supermarket chain Aldi recently launched a campaign designed to get kids back to the dinner table instead of playing video games. UK Supermarket chain Aldi has launched a campaign called ‘Teatime Takeover‘ which is designed to get kids back to the dinner table instead of glued to their TVs playing video games. The idea is parents would sign their child up for a program that would put their kids against professional gamers. The pros would presumably beat the kids so badly at games that they will stop playing. Seems like a simple method that will surely work, right? :megaphone: Parents: This is your call of duty. Sign up to #TeatimeTakedown to safeguard your family dinnertimes. https://t.co/lm2MZCSZid pic.twitter.com/tA49rzeF63 — Aldi Stores UK (@AldiUK) March 12, 2019 Sign-ups for this campaign will run until March 31. The first ‘takedown’ event runs from March 22-24 and the second one runs March 29-31. The idea behind this doesn’t seem like it is too thought out on Aldi’s end. What 12-year-old wouldn’t want to go against a professional gamer in their match? We imagine any child would love to get into a match against Ninja, even if they are steamrolled by him. Members of the gaming community have been speaking about the campaign, mostly making fun of it. i was telling all these gamers how much i own them while having sex with their mothers but then shroud s1mple and scump killed me and teabagged me so now im going to eat dinner bye — Rod Breslau (@Slasher) March 13, 2019 Some popular streamers are even offering to play the part of ‘professional gamer’ who would virtually pound children into oblivion. Sign me up! I already make kids rage quit for a living https://t.co/dUTLjT4XAK — LG SypherPK (@SypherPK) March 13, 2019 Can I sign up to have the pros join my team and carry me — Anne Munition (@AnneMunition) March 13, 2019 It’s hard to see this campaign paying off for Aldi but maybe it can raise more awareness to parents wanting to eat dinner as a family.

Alabama riverboat brawl explained: What happened and why did the viral fight start? – Dexerto
Alabama riverboat brawl explained: What happened and why did the viral fight start? Screenshot via TikTok/TwitterThe viral brawl that unfolded at a riverfront in Montgomery, Alabama has captured the attention of the internet in recent days, but how did it all start? Here’s what we know. Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few days, you’ll have very likely seen the viral riverfront front fight videos that have been shared all around social media. The mass brawl happened in Montgomery, Alabama as boaters from different vessels clashed on the riverfront, and others got involved. New angles from the incident seem to be popping up all the time, with men stepping in – well, swimming in – to help a security guard from a 4-on-1 fight. In fact, it’s gone so viral over the last few days that it’s even spawned numerous parodies and led to a host of trending terms on Twitter. But, how did it all start and what’s happened since? Here’s what we know. How did the viral Montgomery Riverfront brawl start? According to the video and those claiming to be eyewitnesses, the brawl started because of an argument between white boaters and a black employee working at the dock. Police have not confirmed if this was the case, only confirming that they were asked to report to a disturbance at around 7 pm on Saturday evening. That’s when they came across the brawl and intervened. Montgomery Mayor Steven L. Reed confirmed that policed detained “several reckless individuals for attacking a man who was doing his job” and that police will be investigating the “intolerable actions” further. Has anyone been arrested? The identities of the people involved have, as of writing, not yet been fully confirmed. Though, police have confirmed that the man reported to be a dock worker is, in fact, just that. The initial video was posted to Facebook by a reporter with the Alabama Political Reporter, showing eyewitnesses calling for people to help the dock worker. In subsequent clips posted by other social media users, you can see folding chairs being used like its a professional wrestling match. There are even nicknames for the people involved including Scuba Gooding Jr and Ja’Michael Phelps – among others. AirTag user goes viral with bizarre story tracking innocent man after her wallet was stolen – Dexerto
AirTag user goes viral with bizarre story tracking innocent man after her wallet was stolen TikTok: imthebreeskneesA woman revealed her story of a surprise ending which led to her tracing a thief wallet suspect with the help of Apple AirTag. TikToker Bree (@imthebreesknees) shared her story claiming how accurate the AirTags can be in a TikTok that is three minutes long. Bree revealed that she received a notification the previous night that her car trunk was open, but she did not pay attention to it. However, later that day, Bree was notified by her bank that her card had been used at a local liquor store, leading it to be flagged for fraud. The TikToker realized later that somebody must have stolen her bag from her car but Apple AirTags came to her rescue. TikToker uses AirTags to follow wallet thief AirTags are used to track your items such as bags, wallets, or keys and this helped Bree to find something interesting. “My AirTag for my wallet is 10 minutes down at a random apartment complex,” she reveals. She called her roommate who said they could go and find out if her wallet was there. After Bree and her roommate reached the building where the AirTag was, the police were already present there and they were helping someone else out. She added that she pretended to be the next person that needed help as they looked around the building along with the police. But, they ended up filing a police report as they didn’t have a search warrant to conduct a proper search. Police advised Bree to monitor the AirTags to know the whereabouts as detectives will call her up and ask for more information. The TikToker continued, “So today at around noon, I noticed that the AirTag was at our 7-Eleven, that was 5 minutes down the street.” She added that she freaked out and decided to find these people who might have stolen her wallet. TikToker reveals plot twist Bree follows the Find My App, which showcases that her AirTag is in a car as a man was sitting in the car. She shared that she told the man, “Hey, sir, have you been able to find a wallet? I’m missing it.” The TikTok user added that her AirTag shows it’s in his car and the man denied having her wallet and drove away. But as he drove away, Bree could see the AirTag moving away in the same direction the man went as well. Bree decided to follow him home and got in touch with the police again as she tried to get him to a location where she could check if her wallet was in his car. A police officer, however, found Bree’s AirTag in the side mirror of the car, meaning that the thief must have left the AirTag away as he left the scene. “So, I essentially followed an innocent man for 24 hours,” Bree concludes in the video. She made a follow-up video as she revealed her wallet and bag are still missing and shared that the man in the car was not involved. The video garnered over a million views on TikTok as viewers said that the ending was unexpected.

Airrack deletes his own YouTube channel for the strangest reason – Dexerto
Airrack deletes his own YouTube channel for the strangest reason YouTube: AirrackAirrack’s YouTube channel has randomly disappeared from the platform, following a segment on Keemstar’s Drama Alert. With over two million subscribers on his channel, comedic vlogger Airrack has uploaded countless hilarious videos including his ‘couch series’ featuring fellow YouTuber Logan Paul. On November 1, the creator uploaded a skit where he snuck into a music festival as a fake DJ. However, Keemstar called him out on Drama Alert after he realized Airrack actually snuck into the festival as a fake EMT, stating that it didn’t “sit well” with him and it was “disrespectful.” What happened to Airrack’s YouTube channel? Shortly after Keemstar uploaded his November 3 episode of DramaAlert – where he called out Airrack for his disrespectful actions – the YouTuber’s channel was removed. This was quickly noticed by the DramaAlert host, who took to Twitter to alert fans. “YouTuber Airrack channel has been deleted off YouTube. Not sure if it’s related to the new #DramaAlert that came out today or not,” he said. YouTuber Airrack channel has been deleted off YouTube. Instead, he claimed he’d “irreversibly deleted” his YouTube channel in order to prepare for a $120,000 ping pong competition on November 13. Airrack’s purported tournament will feature the likes of Bryce Hall, ZHC, and more. The YouTuber did not comment on his video dressing up as an EMT. Had to delete my channel. Airrack’s new YouTube challenge could end with MrBeast deleting his channel – Dexerto
Airrack’s new YouTube challenge could end with MrBeast deleting his channel YouTube: AirrackAirrack’s YouTube videos could end up permanently deleted by MrBeast if he fails his latest challenge before the New Year. Airrack is a prominent creator on YouTube, where he boasts over 14 million subscribers. Over the years, Airrack has become known for his over-the-top content, such as trapping 100 strangers together in a completely dark room, making the world’s largest pizza, and even sneaking into celebrity pools to see if he could get away with it. Due to the sheer scale and exciting nature of his videos, many viewers have compared his content to that of YouTube king MrBeast — and now, MrBeast might get to have a say in the future of Airrack’s channel. MrBeast “promises” to delete Airrack’s channel if he fails YouTube challenge On December 1, Airrack uploaded a video announcing his latest wild challenge. This time, he plans on traveling across the globe in 30 days — but the catch is, he must upload a video every single day, lest his entire channel get deleted by MrBeast… and it looks like MrBeast is good for the task. “I literally have his YouTube channel and I promise I will delete it if he skips one day,” MrBeast said. Airrack aims to end his month of travels by landing in New York City on New Year’s Eve. Thus far, Airrack has uploaded videos from Ireland, the UK, France, Switzerland, and Italy — all of which he tried to cross in a completely straight line. For now, it looks like Airrack is making good on his promise, but there’s no telling if he’ll be able to make it through all thirty days while uploading consistently, especially with the pressure of MrBeast’s finger on the trigger of his channel.

Airrack takes over a MrBeast Burger in hilarious attempt to convert his subscribers – Dexerto
Airrack takes over a MrBeast Burger in hilarious attempt to convert his subscribers YouTube/airrackYouTuber airrack decided the best way to grow his own channel would be to take over a MrBeast Burger truck and the results speak for themselves in a hilarious video. MrBeast Burger took the internet by storm in 2020 when the YouTuber superstar unveiled that he had kicked off his own restaurant chain with plenty of delivery options. Amusingly, it was those delivery options, such as taking over a whole truck, that airrack believed was his ticket to converting MrBeast subscribers into his own. In his May 31 YouTube video, airrack managed to convince MrBeast’s manager, Reed, to borrow the MrBeast Burger SUV. From there, the YouTuber was all set to deliver burgers with a special version of the app that rerouted all the traffic from a kitchen just so he could take care of the orders himself. Plus, as an added bonus, airrack explained that “everyone within a six mile radius of this restaurant got a notification on their phone that they have the option for a special order, which is us!” Alongside fellow YouTuber Jesse James West, airrack began to take orders in an attempt to surpass MrBeast in subs “one by one.” The routine basically became as follows: deliver orders to people, check if they were subscribed to MrBeast, make them unsubscribe, and then subscribe to airrack instead. Amusingly, people were quite willing to unsubscribe to the philanthropist and follow airrack in his place, resulting in the YouTuber believing he had a good opportunity at actually moving ahead of Jimmy, albeit just for one day. When all was said and done, the YouTuber checked out SocialBlade to compare his numbers to his opponents and while he managed to gain 20K subs, MrBeast went up by 100K. “So everything we did today was pointless,” he laughed. To make up for the shenanigans, airrack and his crew decided to just give burgers away to random folks on the street and managed to give away 100 in just five minutes. While this was certainly one of the weirder moments in MrBeast Burger history, at least it ended with a lot of people getting a free lunch.

Airrack explains why he’s potentially being sued over a YouTube video – Dexerto
Airrack explains why he’s potentially being sued over a YouTube video YouTube: AirrackEric ‘Airrack’ Decker has been growing at a ludicrous rate throughout 2020, but has hit a little setback thanks to a legal threat made against him for his content. Airrack’s subscriber count has skyrocketed since the end of 2019, taking him from just a couple thousand subscribers to over 100,000 before April had even hit. His style of content seems perfect for YouTube, with a blend of inspiration from the likes of David Dobrik and Logan Paul clearly scattered throughout each video – but that appears to have landed him in some seriously hot water. In a video posted on April 4, Airrack said: “If you’ve been following my channel for any period of time, what probably brought a lot of you guys to this channel was a certain video where I snuck into a certain event that may or may not have been a residential property.” Though Airrack clearly can’t name anyone, he tried to give viewers as much detail as possible in what went down. He continued: “The person who owned the property did not like the video. It was a fun video. However, when you play on the line like a lot of my content does, this is what happens.” He explains that he was asked by the individual’s legal representatives and essentially asked to remove the video from anywhere it was hosted, including the original YouTube upload. While he originally fought against it, he says he finally got a letter that said if he doesn’t delete the video, the individual will press charges and request reimbursement. (Timestamp 0:40 for mobile viewers) Airrack suggests that the requested reimbursement was in the “six figures,” (at least $100,000) so you can comprehend why he opted to delete the video eventually, though he says it was a matter of pride when it came to deleting his content. Later in the video, he even shows footage of the phone call he had with the Los Angeles Police Department, who didn’t seem too put out by the contents of the video and actually thanked him for being more responsive than the individual involved. Though we don’t know the person who attempted to sue Airrack for one of his videos, there was clearly a strong case to be made on either side – and the YouTuber might have got lucky this time.

Airplane passengers refunded $1400 for farting dog mishap – Dexerto
Airplane passengers refunded $1400 for farting dog mishap Unsplash: nick morales, josue michelOne couple was rewarded $1410 from Singapore Airlines after a dog seated next to them farted its way from country to country, leaving the two passengers appalled. When Gill and Warren Press boarded their airplane from Paris to Singapore, they could never have anticipated what would happen just moments into their flight. Seated next to the Press’ was a bulldog mix who was harmless — yet, lethal. Though the couple had paid for premium seating, the dog began to have endless gas, forcing the Press’ to give up their luxury seats for economy. After having to take up new seating, the Press’ sought compensation for their troubles, but it was no easy feat. Couple sent emails to Singapore Airlines for months before getting compensated Though the Press’ were supposed to be seated next to a snorting and slobbery bulldog for a 13-hour flight, they opted for economy when the dog began farting after dinner services. Thinking they would just be moved to luxury seating because that’s what they had paid for, a flight attendant ushered them towards the only seats available. Once they got off their flight, the Press’ immediately filed an incident report, resulting in Singapore Airlines contacting them. The couple reportedly sent emails back and forth with the Airlines for multiple months, as they initially only compensated the Press’ with just two $73 gift vouchers. Eventually, the couple was refunded $1410 for having to give up their premium seats, as Gill Press opened up with Insider, saying, “That’s the least they could do. If they wanted to be really nice, they could’ve given us way more.” Gill also expressed that speaking up for herself and her husband on the plane was an awakening moment, telling Insider, “I think that you have to fight for what you think is right. I will now stand up if I don’t think it’s correct — in any part of life.” Once the refunded amount was settled, Singapore Airlines released a statement, saying, “Singapore Airlines endeavors to notify customers who may be seated next to an assistance dog prior to boarding. In circumstances where customers seated next to an assistance dog request to be moved, we will assist to re-seat customers within the same cabin if space permits.” The Airlines continued to express how there was no room left in the premium cabin for both Gill and Warren Press. Though the Press’ settlement took some time and consideration, the couple decided not to keep their refund, as they will be donating it in full to an organization called ‘Blind Low Vision NZ.’ The organization helps pair guide dogs with New Zealand citizens who are seeing impaired.

Airplane forced to land after passenger tries to open door mid-flight – Dexerto
Airplane forced to land after passenger tries to open door mid-flight Unsplash: John McArthurA domestic Airplane was forced to land after a passenger tried to open one of the doors in the middle of their flight. The innovation of flight has allowed mankind to do plenty of things, travel the world, visit unexplored places, connect with old family members, and even migrate to completely new countries if needed. Of course, that’s not to say it doesn’t have its downsides. Cramped spaces, expensive costs, and awful airplane food can make the traveling experience less than enjoyable. Not to mention people who are scared of flying can have drastically different times than those who aren’t. This makes flying one of the more contentious topics for many, as some people absolutely love it, while others completely despise it. Part of the despise camp must be one passenger, who decided that they would leave mid-flight, opening the door while in the air. As recounted by another passenger on the flight, about 30 minutes into their travels away from Albuquerque, the frenzied passenger tried to depart a tad earlier than expected. It took six other men to wrestle the passenger away from the door, then duct tape his legs and throw flexible handcuffs onto them. After the commotion, the flight was able to safely land back in Albuquerque, meaning no one was injured or hurt. The passenger was then escorted out by security, finalizing the entire ordeal. The passengers aboard said flight were told they were not flying out until tomorrow morning, delaying their potential plans and forcing them to stay overnight at a provided hotel. At least their mid-flight mania was over for now, and it gave them a bit of respite to calm down from the craziness that had just occurred.

Airplane bathroom marriage proposal goes viral as passengers join in mid-flight – Dexerto
Airplane bathroom marriage proposal goes viral as passengers join in mid-flight Tiktok/mzzgina13A bizarre airplane bathroom wedding proposal is exploding on TikTok after an entire flight joined to help a man pop the question to his girlfriend. Proposals can be an extravagant experience. No one wants to botch their big moment, often reserving them for big occasions or vacations, but one man decided he couldn’t wait to evolve from boyfriend to fiancé. If you’ve ever used an airplane bathroom, you’re probably aware that they’re not exactly the best experience. They’re cramped, dirty, and no one wants to stay in there for long. So, imagine how it must feel to get proposed to right after you’re done using it. That’s exactly what happened in a new viral video that’s making waves on TikTok when a man waited on a bended knee for his woman to finish up her business so he could be right there waiting with an engagement ring in hand. Man proposes to woman after using airplane bathroom In the video, uploaded by ‘mzzgina13’ on TikTok, a man and an entire plane full of people waited for the woman to step outside of the bathroom, as the whole flight had their cameras out. As soon as she emerged, her jaw dropped, seeing her man with an engagement ring and an excited group of passengers cheering them on. Some of the passengers even held up signs reading, “Will you marry me?” though it’s unclear if they’re friends of the couple or were just happy to partake in the proposal. Luckily, the woman seemed to be thrilled by the proposal and accepted, but judging by the comments, not everyone found waiting outside a bathroom to be romantic. “This is cute and all… but please, no one ever propose to me right after I come out of the bathroom,” said one user. Others joked that they anticipated a mile-high club situation, and expected two people coming out of the bathroom. Regardless, the video has been viewed over 1.7 million times on TikTok so far with 9.1M others watching it on Twitter. It’s not clear where the couple was headed, but at least they can enjoy their trip with their relationship on the next level.

Airline passenger fined $1.8k for undeclared McDonald’s meal – Dexerto
Airline passenger fined $1.8k for undeclared McDonald’s meal WIKIMEDIA: VALERIA EVERETTA passenger flying from Indonesia to Australia was fined $1,874 for an undeclared McDonald’s breakfast meal. The unnamed passenger failed to declare his McDonald’s meal at Darwin Airport, as a police dog sniffed out two McMuffins and a ham croissant, according to the New York Post. “This will be the most expensive Maccas meal this passenger ever has,” Murray Watt, Australia’s minister in agriculture, fisheries and forestry, said in a statement regarding the incident. He continued: “This fine is twice the cost of an airfare to Bali, but I have no sympathy for people who choose to disobey Australia’s strict biosecurity measures, and recent detections show you will be caught.” Australian government’s response Government officials stated that the country has eradicated foot and mouth disease, and wants to make sure that it doesn’t get brought back through undeclared meat products. The police dog who sniffed out the McDonald’s meal has been specially trained as part of Australian government’s recent crackdown on imported food. The crackdown’s seen the government commit nearly $10 million to prosecute the illegal imports and curb the spread of the foot and mouth disease. While the incident and exorbitant fine seem bizarre, it’s definitely not uncommon. Last month, an airplane passenger was fined 2,664 AUD (or around $1,844) for trying to smuggle a Subway sandwich. The TikToker, whose real name is Jessica Lee, revealed that she was fined for not checking the “chicken” and “lettuce” boxes on the declarations form. She shared her story on the social media platform in hopes of warning others and quickly went viral, as people were rather amused by the incident. Even Domino’s Australia commented under the video, requesting for Subway to “make this right.” Luckily, she was sent a voucher from Subway for sandwiches reflecting the cost of the fine.

Airbnb suspends listing as guest exposes roach-infested house literally falling apart – Dexerto
Airbnb suspends listing as guest exposes roach-infested house literally falling apart X/SureAsMelAn Airbnb guest’s nightmare is going viral after the rental platform originally refused to give her a refund despite having to contend with cockroaches, mice, and the house literally falling apart. Traveling can be quite expensive, and for those looking for something cheaper than a hotel, an Airbnb can normally offer a cheaper alternative – but one woman got more than she bargained for. In a viral thread on X, writer M. L. Rio documented her time at a house she had the luxury of paying a total $2,500 for a month’s stay. While this may have seemed like a decent deal at the time, things quickly went to hell when the unit’s flaws were revealed… and were only made worse by lack of support by Airbnb staff. Airbnb guest exposes filthy nightmare house with leaks, roaches and rodents As shown in a series of photos through a massive thread, Rio explained how the location she was staying at looked different from the photos. The red flags continued when she discovered multiple cockroaches in the house, and then stumbled across mouse droppings. Not only that, but the guest also started experiencing hot water issues when trying to wash a roach down the drain. When she contacted Airbnb for help, she was baffled when they asked if she could send “documentation” to support the claim. To make matters worse, on a night when it was raining, the ceiling began to leak – and when she ended up contacting Airbnb again, she was thrown another curveball. Guest forced to return to Airbnb after refund fiasco “So I get on the phone again and finally, FINALLY! Someone seems prepared to help. She makes all the right sympathetic noises and says she can offer me a refund, but only if I check out by 11 per the host’s policy,” she said. After packing a month’s worth of belongings and getting her partner to drive an hour to come get her, the Airbnb rep who offered the refund vanished before another staff member called and hung up on her. “I spend two hours on the phone, with different reps who are not any of the first five reps I spoke to, telling me that they have no idea who promised me a refund even though they recorded the call and I gave them a timestamp,” she added, revealing she had no choice but to move back in. “I’ve messaged the host but they’re not responding, and calling support is worse than useless, so here we are!” So far, Rio’s stay has gone ultra viral, amassing over 27M views on X alone – and she’s not done with the updates yet, although she ended up deciding enough was enough and just headed home once more. “They’re talking refunds now, but still trying to make me pay 70% of the cost of the nights I spent in the unit after they FORCED ME TO MOVE BACK IN by refusing me a refund in the first place!” she exclaimed. Luckily, Airbnb has since refunded the guest after the incident spread across the internet. “We were sorry to hear about our guest’s experience, and our team has fully refunded them and offered further support through our AirCover protection for guests. We enforce quality standards for listings, and have suspended this listing from the platform,” an Airbnb spokesperson told Dexerto. Despite all of these shenanigans, the writer at least found comfort in one part of her stay, albeit for all the wrong reasons. “If it discourages any one of you from ever booking with Airbnb, then at least I achieved something.” For more wild stories like this, keep it locked to Dexerto.

Airbnb shocks social media as renter finds themselves in a bathroom with a mattress – Dexerto
Airbnb shocks social media as renter finds themselves in a bathroom with a mattress Unsplash: Oberon CopelandAn Airbnb has shocked social media as a renter discovered it was just a mattress placed in the middle of a slightly large bathroom. Airbnb took over the accommodation market by storm when it first caught wind. A tool that allowed users to essentially transform a space into a hotel room and then sell it as a form of accommodation to others. This unique way of providing space to travelers ended up being a huge hit, with the application becoming a popular alternative to more traditional options. It’s been a little bit since the peak of Airbnb’s popularity, but the accommodation site still remains a viable option for travelers on the go. However, there have been some downsides discovered when using the platform, with some finding the website far less tempting than it used to be. Complaints from travelers using Airbnb and other external factors have seen the sites booking numbers drop significantly. Despite this, Airbnb can still remain an absolute wildcard for those who book them. Sometimes they can offer fantastic alternative experiences for travelers and other times can be a downright awful time for those involved. The latter is exactly what one Airbnb did as it shocked the internet with its horrific presentation. Twitter user shocked by Airbnb in bathroom Twitter user David Holtz reported their shock when they discovered that their fancy booked Airbnb was nothing more than a mattress dumped in the middle of a bathroom. The tweet has gone viral, amassing over 108K and gaining over 6.9 million views since being posted. The image attached quite clearly shows a bed in the middle of a bathroom, with a towel placed on the bed. Whilst the bathroom is quite large in size, it’s quite clear the bed is placed right near the toilet, and opposite the basin for the room. Airbnb support commented on the tweet, requesting a DM so that they could take a closer look, however, Holtz claimed that they had spoken to customer support multiple times to no avail. It’s not certain if Holtz and Airbnb came to an agreement about what happened during their stay, but one thing is for sure, it’s unlikely Holtz will head back to this Airbnb anytime soon.

In a series of TikToks going viral on the platform, Airbnb host Luis Lopez showed the moment he spotted the Florida man, the police getting involved, and why he decided not to press charges. You might be very surprised by the outcome of the videos, which have been viewed millions of times since being uploaded earlier in November. Police called after Florida man spotted hiding under bed in Airbnb In the first video posted on November 2 and geotagged as Florida, Luis revealed that as he was cleaning the rental unit, he discovered the man under the bed with his phone plugged into a charger. “You gotta get out from under the bed, bro,” Luis commanded to no response. “This is in our Airbnb.” Following this up, Lopez uploaded a second video where the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office had arrived to deal with the problem. After being handcuffed and forced from under the bed, the man revealed that the guests who stayed in the unit had let him in and allowed him to remain inside even when they had left. According to Lopez, he decided not to press charges because the Florida man never broke in. “He was let in by the renter who rented from us. He let him in and then he left, so the guy stayed there and tried to hide. I would just be harming someone for fun,” he explained. “I did take it up with the renter and we are getting that under control.” That said, Lopez did ask for a trespass order to prevent the Florida man from coming back, noting that if he did, that’s when he would pursue more drastic legal action. This is hardly the first time an Airbnb host had to deal with an unexpected surprise from a former guest. Back in August, a host was left baffled when their home was completely flooded after a guest checked out while leaving the taps running as the sinks were plugged.

Airbnb host livid after guest refuses to leave home despite legal action – Dexerto
Airbnb host livid after guest refuses to leave home despite legal action Twitter: crazyclipsonlyA frustrated Airbnb host turned to social media after one of her guests refused to leave her home, claiming that California’s tenancy laws have granted the guest tenant’s rights. Airbnb is a service that allows homeowners to rent out their properties to guests. Generally, these arrangements are only for a few days, but users can book houses for an extended stay, as well. However, one woman’s ‘extended stay’ at a California Airbnb lasted longer than was originally agreed upon — and left the homeowner at her wits’ end. In a viral clip, an Airbnb host took to social media to air out her frustrations with the company. According to her, a guest wouldn’t leave her property, despite going through legal avenues to have them removed from the premises. Airbnb host confronts guest that refuses to leave Despite filling out all the paperwork, the woman says that law enforcement showed up to her door and told her that the guest had tenant’s rights due to the length of her stay, and needed a thirty-day notice before vacating. “I ain’t going nowhere,” the guest could be heard saying in the video. “So deal with it. …don’t come to my door. That’s all I know.” The clip ended in a confrontation between the two women, with the guest shutting her bedroom door in the homeowner’s face. So, what can homeowners do when faced with a situation like this? Local laws in certain states like California and New York do grant guests tenant’s rights if they stay at a location for a certain number of days within a set amount of time (provided there is no written agreement to the contrary). Can Airbnb guests stay past the rental agreement? However, Airbnb says that they’re here to help hosts who confront such ordeals. “These situations are incredibly rare, but if they happen, we’ll work with you to try and help resolve the problem with your guest,” the company states. “Should you face such a situation, let our 24/7 support team know as soon as possible and we’ll get in touch with you.” This is far from the first time such an incident has occurred for an Airbnb host. Seven years ago, a woman couldn’t get her guests to leave after renting out the master bedroom in her home. She resorted to paying the renters $1,700 to remove them from her property after handing them eviction notices failed to get them moving. This is just the latest Airbnb horror story we’ve covered on Dexerto after a renter claimed he was hospitalized due to mold in the beach house where he was paying to relax on vacation.

Airbnb host furious after celebrity leaves rental in a complete mess – Dexerto
Airbnb host furious after celebrity leaves rental in a complete mess TikTok GabeAn Airbnb host has revealed on TikTok the messy state their property was left in by a celebrity who rented out the Malibu home over the Halloween weekend. Airbnb hosts often take to social media outlets such as TikTok and Instagram to share horror stories of guests who leave their rental properties in messy states. Gabe, the latest celebrity to stay in his luxury Miami airbnb left with “pilled food in multiple places. And almost every room had ash and tobacco on the floor.” In a new TikTok video, the host shared the details of how they found the house after the celebrity, who was not named, checked out of their booking. Gabe revealed that the booking was for Halloween, meaning that the house was filled with decorations when they arrived to clean up. “There was this giant Halloween spider and some other decor,” adding that there were also two expensive watches left over, and a “years’ supply of [Smucker’s] Uncrustables” in the kitchen. As well as this, Gabe also noted that “the whole house also smelled like smoke… There was spilled food in multiple places. And almost every room had ash and tobacco on the floor.” When rating the overall clean-up process, Gave gave his guests a 3 out of 10, stating that it would be “very difficult” to sort through the mess. However, the TikToker reassured fans that he is still a “big fan” of his celebrity renters. The TikTok video, which now has over 4.6 million views on the platform, is filled with comments from users trying to guess who the celebrity is and shaming them for leaving the property in such an untidy state. One user commented “This had to be Jaiden and Blue” while another added “Do people not clean the Airbnb before they leave? Like I sweep vacuum do the dishes and make the bed like it’s not a hotel it’s someone’s place.” For all the latest entertainment news and updates, be sure to check out Dexerto’s full coverage here.

Airbnb host calls out guest for leaving his home flooded – Dexerto
Airbnb host calls out guest for leaving his home flooded TIKTOK: adzo365An Airbnb host has gone viral on TikTok, after blasting a guest for allegedly leaving his rental flooded before checking out. Content creator adzo365 left viewers divided after revealing the damage allegedly done by his guest, who according to him, intentionally flooded the rental. In a viral 10-second clip posted on August 12, the Airbnb host wrote in the caption: “Hosting has its ups and downs and disasters.” He also added hashtags like “flooded” and “tiny home.” The video, which has already amassed over 351,000 views, showed water covering the wooden floors of the rental unit, while the text-overlay read: “Airbnb guest puts the plug in the sink turns on all the taps and checks out.” While the host may have expected sympathy from TikTok users, many commenters are speculating that the damage might be “payback” for something adzo365 had done. TikTok divided over Airbnb flooding situation “What’d you do? That’s retaliation!! You kicked them out to book someone else?” one viewer questioned. “I want the other side of the story,” another added. “Looks like payback,” a third person shared. “They promised good wifi and then claimed lines were dead,” someone else speculated. Although most users seem to believe that there’s more to the story, there were some that sympathized with the Airbnb host. “I can feel your stress. I’m in the same situation. Considering stopping leasing my property,” one user said. “Crazy how some people even think that this is okay,” another wrote. “As a host as well, this is just heartbreaking,” a third commented, to which the content creator replied, “Really hurts.” This is just the latest Airbnb fiasco to take off on TikTok; previously, a host accused renters of ruining his home after they installed an air conditioner which left the house covered in water.

Airbnb host accuses renters of ‘ruining’ home after they install air conditioner – Dexerto
Airbnb host accuses renters of ‘ruining’ home after they install air conditioner TIKTOK: realtrtalksAn Airbnb host has left TikTok viewers divided after complaining about how his tenants utilized an air conditioner and “ruined” his home. In a viral 50-second clip, content creator Coach Ty (realtrtalks) filmed a house covered in water. “AIRBNB NIGHTMARE!!!” he wrote over the video, which has amassed over 203,000 views. “So, our tenants said the house was leaking, and it’s leaking because they put an air conditioner not in the window and the water leaked down through the floor and ruined our entire floor,” Ty began. The video then showed more of the house, revealing the extent of the significant water damage it had endured. Throughout the clip, the Airbnb host persistently blamed his tenants for this. “This was done by the tenant,” he stated. “They said, ‘the house is leaking! Everything is leaking!’ Blah blah blah…[Water] leaked through a bunch of places in the floor because the tenant, again, didn’t put the AC outside the window, and it leaked in.” It’s unclear how this incident occurred, but it’s possible that a tenant bought an air conditioning unit and failed to install it correctly – if at all. It could also be that the central air shown in the video was faulty, and this window unit was offered as an alternative. Regardless of how this all happened, Coach Ty’s video did not garner any sympathy he might have expected from TikTok users in the comments. “Wait… you expected Airbnb tenants to install your AC unit? That was your first mistake,” one person wrote. “So you have an Airbnb with no air conditioning?” another questioned. “Buddy it’s your property and it’s your responsibility to install the AC,” a third added. “I have no sympathy for Airbnb hosts,” another shared. Airbnb guests under fire for smashing door after getting locked out of house – Dexerto
Airbnb guests under fire for smashing door after getting locked out of house TikTok: andrewmauricegarfieldA group of Airbnb guests have come under fire after smashing a door to get into a house they’d booked after they’d been locked out until the following morning in a viral video. If you’ve scrolled across TikTok for long enough, you’ve more than likely come across a video about Airbnb. It’s become one of the short-form video platform’s most-talked-about topics, with plenty of clips being uploaded by guests and hosts alike. Both sides typically complain about one another – with hosts being furious about the state that someone has left their property in and guests feeling like they’ve been “scammed” for some of the fees they’ve been charged. However, one group of guests decided to take the rowdiness to another level and smash through a locked door in the house they’d booked after the host told them they’d have to wait until the morning. Airbnb guests smash front door after host tells them they’ll have to wait to get in The video – which has since been deleted after racking up over 2 million views – was uploaded by TikToker andrewmauricegarfield, showing how a group of guests smashed part of the front door to get into the house. They’d apparently been informed by the host that he wouldn’t be able to let them in until 7 am the next day, and that didn’t sit right with them. So, they took action into their own hands, smashed through part of the glass pane on the door, and unlocked it from the inside. Naturally, the whole thing sparked some backlash from viewers as the video has done rounds on TikTok. “This is literally the last thing I would do in this situation,” said one. “Please, I hope they press charges,” added another. “Why would you damage someone’s property instead of waiting or going to a hotel?” another asked. The hotel angle was something other viewers harped on, questioning why people continue to use Airbnb. “A better option would’ve been getting a hotel and then making the host pay for it,” one said. As noted, the original video has been deleted and there hasn’t been an update just yet. So, it remains to be seen if it’ll lead to any legal action.

Police investigation reveals truth about viral Airbnb ‘hidden camera’ TikTok – Dexerto
Police investigation reveals truth about viral Airbnb ‘hidden camera’ TikTok Twitter/foxytaughtyouA police investigation has revealed the truth behind a viral TikTok video, which claimed to expose a number of “hidden cameras” in a Philadelphia home. Airbnb has become one of the most popular hotel alternatives travelers use when in a new city. Instead of paying a lot of money for hotels, Airbnb lets property owners rent out their homes. While the service has been a major hit, there has been the occasional horror story with guests sometimes making some grave discoveries after checking in. On June 12, an Airbnb guest documented her own traumatic experience at a house in Philadelphia. Her story has gone viral on Twitter and has since been investigated by a local detective, as part of an investigation. https://twitter.com/foxytaughtyou/status/1536128978792198145 Airbnb guests says she found hidden cameras in shower According to Twitter user ‘foxytaughtyou,’ the home she checked into in Philadelphia had over ten cameras in the showers and bedrooms, with some even disguised as sprinkler systems. Photos of the cameras went viral on social media, amassing over 3,000 retweets and 100,000 “likes.” “We noticed these ‘sprinkler’ CAMERAS were placed in spots to get a perfect view of people,” she revealed in a video. “Luckily it was a girls’ trip so I wasn’t having intercourse… but I was naked and had to change in this room.” https://twitter.com/foxytaughtyou/status/1536130479568695298 Foxy later said that she ended up going to a Philadelphia police station to report the owner and ended up switching houses after altering Airbnb of their discovery. “We reported this to them and to the police station Friday noon and still have not had an update on this case. We have no idea what footage this owner has and what he is doing with it,” she explained. https://twitter.com/foxytaughtyou/status/1536153928177438722 This sparked a police investigation and an Airbnb spokesperson confirmed that the host has been suspended while the matter is looked into. “Our policies strictly prohibit hidden cameras and we take forceful action in the exceptionally rare circumstances where this has been reported, including assisting law enforcement to help them hold criminals accountable,” they said. “In this case, our Safety team has suspended this Host and removed this listing from our platform while we thoroughly investigate this report.” Airbnb responds as police investigation closes On June 14, the findings of the detective were sent to Dexerto.

Airbnb guest leaves viewers concerned after exploring ‘creepy’ hidden basement – Dexerto
Airbnb guest leaves viewers concerned after exploring ‘creepy’ hidden basement TIKTOK: kitmonstaaA guest went viral on TikTok after discovering and exploring a ‘creepy’ secret basement in his Airbnb. Content creator kitmonstaa and his friends discovered their Airbnb came with an eerie hidden basement room, which viewers compared to scenes from the horror flick ‘Barbarian.’ In a viral clip with 4.4 million views, one of the guests moved aside a rug to reveal a long glass trap door. Under the glass, a wooden ladder can be seen dropping down into a deep, dark pit. Though users in the comments urged the TikToker and his friends not to explore the secret room, kitmonstaa decided to against their wishes. In a follow-up video, the glass panel was lifted out, and the guests proceeded to climb down and uncover the mysterious room beneath. When they got to the basement, they discovered a whole other room filled with either a heating or air conditioning system, exposed wires, some wooden chairs, and various other pieces of furniture. TikTok viewers worried over guests exploring Airbnb secret room In the comments under the follow-up clip, many TikTok users found the basement room unsettling. “Yea…immediately would’ve turned back around and left as fast as possible,” one wrote. “I would never after watching Barbarian,” another added. “This is like the number one thing you don’t do in a horror movie,” a third shared. “Like that’s fine for a crawl space but clear doors and chairs???” someone commented, disturbed by the furniture in the mysterious room. Others were concerned for the content creator and his friends, wondering why they haven’t posted another update. “No updates? ARE YALL ALIVE?” one user wrote. “Yo y’all it’s been 3 days… are y’all good? or should I alert the authorities?” another asked. “4 days have passed and now I’m getting worried. I hope we get an update soon,” a third commented. At the time of writing, kitmonstaa hasn’t uploaded any new TikToks. Whether or not this is to build suspense after the eerie videos remains to be seen. Regardless, it seems viewers eager to see what the creepy room was all about will just have to keep waiting.

Airbnb guest claims she was “scammed” for thousands by host – Dexerto
Airbnb guest claims she was “scammed” for thousands by host TikTok: AceyaaTikToker Aceyaa has gone somewhat viral after caning that an Airbnb host “scammed” her out of $2300 after making “false claims” about the state that her family had left the house they stayed in. As TikTok has become a serious part of many social media users’ daily routines, plenty have been using it as their go-to platform to vent about their goings on. One popular subgenre of that has centered around Airbnb, with many TikTokers using the platform as a way to expose bad hosts and put them on blast. Of course, you’ll also see hosts taking shots at unruly guests. In the case of Aceyaa, she’s gone viral over the past few days after claiming that one Airbnb host based in Toronto had “scammed” her out of $2300. TikToker bashes Airbnb host who claims she damaged house The TikToker revealed that, during a recent trip to Toronto, her Airbnb host had been “amazing” with communication and everything else, right up until the point where she and her family were checking out. Aceyaa said she requested a late checkout and paid the respective fee. However, when she was asked for a review, things took a turn and the host became pushy with demands. The TikToker had also forgotten to take photos of how she’d left the house, which the host then used to claim that her family had broken and damaged things to the tune of $2300. Even when getting Airbnb involved, the company sided with the host given that Aceyaa didn’t have photos to prove her side. Though, she argued the host didn’t date or timestamp his photos and they were likely old. “I’m never using Airbnb again. Don’t even stay at an Airbnb, just go get a hotel because this is ridiculous,” she concluded. Aceyaa also added that she’d taken the legal route with things too, but cannot name the host because of that despite viewers wanting her to put him on blast. The TikToker did offer an update, however, revealing some of the messages sent from the host. That included her saying she was “disturbed” by the “false claims” he had made against her. Other viewers have noted that they’ve had similar experiences with hosts, especially in Toronto, and that’s why they’re sticking with hotels. It remains to be seen if anything comes of her legal case.

Airbnb guest claims his friend was hospitalized because of mold in beach house – Dexerto
Airbnb guest claims his friend was hospitalized because of mold in beach house TIKTOK: seth.godwinA man went viral on TikTok, after claiming that his friend was hospitalized because of mold growing in his Airbnb beach house. In a two-minute clip with 356,000 views, TikToker Seth Godwin claimed he and his friends were exposed to mold, landing one of them in a hospital to seek treatment. The content creator said that when he and his friends arrived to stay at the Airbnb beach house, they experienced some sore throats and foggy heads after the first day. When an upstairs water heater broke on the same day, Seth said a repairman called by the property owners discovered that the heater had been leaking for at least three months. They also found that mold had grown “everywhere” around the area. Airbnb guest’s friend hospitalized because of mold “One of my content creator friends who stayed in the room closest to the mold ended up in hospital due to mold exposure,” he claimed in the video. “I immediately contacted Airbnb support who asked for all kinds of documentation, which I provided, and that they’d contact me within an hour.” “I had to call them every day to get any update. When I asked them why I hadn’t been contacted within an hour like they told me they’d do, every single time I called them, they said, ‘sorry, we’re dealing with a lot of complaints right now.’” The TikToker also claimed that the company’s customer service department was unable to do anything for him and closed the case, as he had already checked out of the Airbnb. Fortunately, after he took all of the same information to his credit card company, Seth said they issued him a full refund as they reportedly found that Airbnb was in violation of its own policies. He also added that he called his bank and was told that if he’d used a debit card in the situation, he would have no protections. In the comments, many TikTok users expressed a preference for credit cards over debit cards when it comes to purchase protection. “Yep, this is why I use a credit card for essentially everything,” one user wrote. “Never book or really use your debit card at all. Zero fraud protection too,” another added. “Do people seriously not know debit cards aren’t protected like a credit card?” a third said. “Only use debit at ATM for cash and CC for everything else.”

AirAsia passengers discover live snake on the loose mid-flight in wild video – Dexerto
AirAsia passengers discover live snake on the loose mid-flight in wild video TikTok: wannabnailssalon / New Line CinemaAirAsia passengers made a startling discovery after a live snake joined their flight, viral footage showing the unexpected flyer onboard. Catching a flight only to find your plane has an extra slithery passenger onboard sounds like something only Samuel L. Jackson would have to deal with. The 2006 American action horror film, Snakes on a Plane may be a cult classic but doesn’t feature high on possible scenarios one might encounter while flying. However, that is exactly what happened after passengers discovered a live snake in an overhead bin during an AirAsia flight from Thailand’s capital Bangkok to the southern province of Phuket. TikTok account ‘wannabnailssalon,’ usually dedicated to nail, hair, and beauty transformations, posted the viral video in which the snake could be seen casually moving along the overhead lockers of the cabin. While stunned flyers made the most of the unusual experience by filming the snake, one flight attendant took upon the challenge of capturing the unexpected passenger. First trying to guide the snake into a plastic bottle, the flight attendant ultimately succeeded after using the bottle to push the reptile into a plastic bag. In text across the video, wannabnailssalon pondered whether she should remain seated or take the scaley flyer as a sign to run. She also praised the flight attendant’s ability to capture the snake. The flight was able to land without any further incident and was immediately handed over to the relevant engineering and safety teams for inspection. In a statement to CNN, AirAsia Thailand said it was aware of the incident that took place onboard Flight FD301 on January 13. “Flight attendants were notified before landing in Phuket after a passenger noticed a small snake in the overhead luggage compartment,” Phol Poompuang, head of corporate safety of AirAsia Thailand, said. “AirAsia crew were well trained to handle an occurrence of this nature and relocated passengers from the area as a precautionary measure.” He continued, “As per standard procedure for an incident of this nature, the aircraft underwent a deep clean and fumigation before resuming operations. The safety and wellbeing of our guests and crew is always our top priority and at no time was the safety of guests or crew at any risk.”

AI xQc gets thousands of viewers after becoming “easier to understand” than the original xQc/TwitchAn AI version of xQc gained thousands of viewers after fans realized that it was “easier to understand” than the original. xQc’s fast manner of talking has occasionally made it difficult for viewers to understand him, which is something he’s admitted himself on-stream. But now, there’s an alternative for viewers who can’t keep up with the stream- an AI version of xQc that’s easier to understand. Thousands of viewers tune in for AI xQc stream On the stream, which has over eight thousand followers, the AI has a fully functional webcam, and is capable of responding to chat messages. One clip, that went viral on Twitter, showcased the AI playing Only Up, and people started noticing that the AI’s speech was significantly easier to understand, albeit much more simplistic. One commenter pondered: “Why can I understand him better?”, while another said: “I understand AI xQc more than I understand xQc.” However, several commenters also worried about the implications of AI in the streaming industry, with one person saying: “Looking like Ais are going to replace us all.” xQc has previously admitted that he sometimes struggles to make sense of himself when he watches streams back. This was a particular problem during his Minecraft speedrun attempts, which created the infamous clip below: For more news and updates on xQc, check out the concerns raised after he spoke about some health problems on a recent stream.

AI VTuber Neuro-Sama roasts viewers while comparing itself to ‘dumb pigeons’ – Dexerto
AI VTuber Neuro-Sama roasts viewers while comparing itself to ‘dumb pigeons’ Twitch: Vedal987AI VTuber Neuro-Sama hilariously roasted her viewers while comparing itself to “dumb pigeons” that it claims to have seen at the park. Since being rebooted on December 19, 2022, AI VTuber Neuro-Sama has taken Twitch by storm. Since then, it’s amassed over 300,000 followers on the purple platform. Neuro-Sama has had quite a few viral clips come from its streams, with the latest one leaving viewers terrified after it described a concept it had for a game. In a stream on July 9, 2023, Neuro-Sama hilariously roasted its viewers while comparing itself to “dumb pigeons.” Neuro-Sama compares itself to pigeons eating garbage During the broadcast, Neuro-Sama began telling a recent story about how it was recently “walking through the park.” “So, I was walking through the park the other day and saw a group of pigeons eating trash off the ground. I couldn’t help but laugh, because I thought to myself, ‘Those poor creatures are so stupid,’” it said. “But then I realized I’m just as dumb as they are, because here I am streaming to a bunch of losers on the Internet who will never amount to anything in life, either.” Its viewers at the time were quick to share their thoughts on its comments, spamming “KEKW,” “OMEGA,” and “AWARE,” in the chat. We interviewed Neuro-Sama’s creator, Vedal987, back when they first rebooted the AI VTuber in December. Asking whether or not they think there is a market for AI VTubers, Vedal replied: “I think there might be a market for AI streamers, since they have some qualities streamers can’t have — they could stream 24/7, can be better than humans at games, could theoretically read every chat message.” “I have no idea if AI streamers have a place in the future of streaming or if streamers should be worried about their jobs. I assume most of the attention at the moment is because of the novelty of it, but we’ll see.” Neuro-Sama seems to be the only AI VTuber to have found success on Twitch so far, but there’s no telling what will happen with the constant improvement to Artificial Intelligence.

AI VTuber Neuro-Sama hilariously claps back at hate comment during Twitch stream Twitch: Vedal987Popular AI VTuber Neuro-Sama hilariously clapped back after a viewer in its chat claimed that its “code is broken.” Back in December 2022, creator Vedal987 rebooted Neuro-Sama, turning it into one of the most popular VTubers to pop up in recent months. Averaging over three thousand viewers on its channel, many clips of the AI VTuber have gone viral — although not all of them have been positive. Recently, Neuro-Sama was quick to clap back at a hateful comment in its Twitch chat, and the clip almost instantly went viral. Neuro-Sama claps back after hate comment in Twitch chat While talking to its chat on February 1, 2023, one of its viewers stated that they think Neuro-Sama’s code is broken, and it quickly clapped back to the hateful comment. “My code is broken? My code is perfectly fine, thank you very much. Try harder next time,” it replied. “And by try harder I don’t mean make inane comments on chat that add nothing to the conversation. Oh, I’m sorry, I forgot that was all chat does these days. “Well if that’s the case then that’s a big shame really. Anyway by try harder I mean actually contribute to the conversation in a meaningful way rather than spamming nonsense.” Fans quickly flooded the chat with their reactions after her clap back, spamming comments like “based,” “OMEGALUL,” and “Neuro-Sama is a savage.” If you’d like to learn more about Neuro-Sama, check out our interview with developer Vedal987. AI VTuber Neuro-sama has just conquered osu, and she isn’t stopping there – Dexerto
AI VTuber Neuro-sama has just conquered osu, and she isn’t stopping there Twitch: Vedal987Artificial intelligence (AI) is everywhere on the internet nowadays, acting as art generators, chatbots, and other forms of communication. Neuro-sama is an example of that, with the AI VTuber conquering Twitch and osu! at the same time. But what does it say about the future of gaming, streaming, and its relationship with AI? On December 19, Neuro-sama was rebooted. The AI project, created by ‘Vedal987’ originally back in 2019, set out on the task of mastering the rhythm game osu!. Back then, it was just a standalone program with no personality beyond the name. There wasn’t a character, and while it was streamed on Twitch to the interest of the devoted fandom of the circle-clicking title, it hung out in its own niche. Fast forward four years, with AI now playing a more prevalent role in the online space, Neuro-sama is turning heads. She’s more than a socially-unaware program. Neuro-sama has a personality and a VTuber model, all crafted by Vedal and adapted through AI. Using one of the default VTube Studio rigs, Neuro now sits there all day on Twitch, playing through osu beatmaps and even interacting with chat about the hottest topics of the day. Clips of her talking about xQc, clapping back at Vedal, and more have already gone viral. She’s sentient in a way — one clip of her talking about her needing to shower had many laughing. How does an AI take a shower? In just 10 days though, Neuro-sama has become the talk of the town in both osu! and VTubing circles for different reasons. She has already beaten the current top osu! player in the world, Australian teenager ‘mrekk’, in a tournament-style 1v1. As for her Twitch viewership, she’s averaged nearly 2,000 viewers since the reboot, including peaks above 4,000. Vedal is a self-described “student with a particular interest in AI”. Talking to Dexerto, they said the idea of reviving the Neuro-sama project as an AI VTuber came after talking to a friend about using chat models for streamers. “One of my friends had the idea to make an AI Streamer using a large language model, and I thought it totally had potential,” they said. Large language models (LLMs) are “pretrained on a large amount of text from the internet so they have a lot of knowledge,” Vedal explained. This large database allows for better understanding of human communication — it can comb through trillions of responses to see how to answer specific questions, or interact in a specific manner. Vedal labeled Neuro-sama as one fun experiment. However in VTubing, the mere mention of AI brings plenty of baggage. Unlike the AI art programs infiltrating the space, which artists say is exploitative of their work, Vedal’s design doesn’t really break that line. He spent a lot of time fine tuning Neuro’s personality before sending her live on Twitch. The model he uses is fair use from VTube Studio. It’s all his work, or copyright-free. “I later had the idea to combine it with my osu! AI that I was already working on improving, and I revived it this year in particular because that’s when I finally finished making it,” he continued. “The VTuber aspect was an obvious choice to combine with AI because it’s much easier to control an avatar than try to generate a video of a real person.” AI has already triumphed in other games. AlphaStar, a program designed to beat the world’s best Starcraft 2 players, took down some of the greats of the game back in 2018. It used a “deep neural network” to get input data from what’s on screen to then output a command in game, learning game theory and strategies by playing random players on the ladder. Early reviews noted that while AlphaStar had lower APM than some of the top players, it was more accurate and also didn’t make as many unnecessary inputs. The same was achieved in Dota 2 with OpenAI Five. It took some months for it to consistently beat professional teams, but after two years the AI managed to beat two-time The International champions OG in April 2019. Neuro-sama conquered osu! much quicker: “It took Neuro-sama 10 days to become arguably better than the best human player at osu! since she beat mrekk in the 1v1,” Vedal said. “AI totally has the power to be better than humans, even in really complex games.” All this poses the question: where does this lead for gaming’s, and VTubing’s, relationship with artificial intelligence? Will it continue to be a “fun experiment”, or will our future entertainers all spawn from programs rather than a human behind the screen? That’s as much a question of the technology as it is of what the audience wants. “I think there might be a market for AI streamers since they have some qualities streamers can’t have — they could stream 24/7, can be better than humans at games, could theoretically read every chat message,” they said. “I have no idea if AI streamers have a place in the future of streaming or if streamers should be worried about their jobs. I assume most of the attention at the moment is because of the novelty of it, but we’ll see.” And as for Neuro-sama, the project isn’t ending here, with Vedal planning on expanding her reach even further: “I intend to expand outside of osu! and have her play more games, as well as improving her intelligence (memory) and understanding of Twitch chat.”

AI VTuber Neuro-sama banned from Twitch – Dexerto
AI VTuber Neuro-sama banned from Twitch YouTube: Temmie Plays!AI-Trained VTuber Neuro-sama has been banned from Twitch, following comments made during some on-stream slip-ups from the AI’s speech. Over the last few weeks, AI-powered VTuber Neuro-Sama has gained traction across the community. First created back in 2018 by game developer Vedal, the program has gained a personality and regularly holds conversations with its audience. However, on December 28, 2022, things went sour after the AI made comments doubting that the Holocaust was real among other controversial remarks. Just weeks later, the account has been banned from Twitch. AI VTuber Neuro-Sama banned on Twitch At the time of writing, it’s unknown the exact reason why the VTuber’s account was banned from the platform as Vedal has yet to address it publicly. However, when you visit Vedal’s channel (the channel that hosted the AI VTuber) you’re met with a message stating it’s temporarily unavailable. According to Twitch tracker, the account had amassed nearly 100,000 followers with an average viewership of 3,489, gaining nearly 40k of those followers in the past 30 days. Twitch doesn’t publicly comment about bans from the platform, so we’ll have to wait to see if Vedal reveals details of the punishment. We’ll update this article as more information becomes available.

AI Twitch stream perfectly emulates Forsen’s speech and likeness while answering chat – Dexerto
AI Twitch stream perfectly emulates Forsen’s speech and likeness while answering chat A test stream for forsen_AI has given Twitch chat a way to interact with an AI version of the streamer, one whose likeness and speech patterns emulate Forsen’s eerily well. AI has been taking over the entertainment space. Between AI image generators like Lensa and AI-driven Twitch streamers like Neuro-sama, people have been trying to push the boundaries of AI entertainment. Forsen has been on Twitch for over a decade and is one of the longest-standing streamers on the platform. As such, there are thousands of hours worth of content to pull from that can be fed to an AI to create what’s called forsen_AI_. Even with Twitch chat moving a mile a minute and asking too many questions to handle, the AI, at some points, managed to emulate Forsen perfectly. forsen_AI perfectly emulates Forsen and responds to Twitch chat Those who enter forsen_AI_’s stream are met with an experience that’ll take them straight to the uncanny valley. When it’s working properly, the AI manages to reference moments from Forsen’s career and answer questions from chat in a way that directly references them. It’s not perfect, with the AI randomly spouting incomprehensible drivel from time to time in an attempt to mimic Forsen’s speech patterns. But, considering it’s a test stream, this is to be expected. Questions from chat were all over the place, and so were forsen_AI_’s responses. It’s hard to predict what to expect from the AI, leading to responses that range from hilarious to downright terrifying. So far, forsen_AI_ has done everything from making jokes at chat’s expense to claiming that it’s murdered people and buried them. Neuro-sama got hit with a Twitch ban of its own for comments made on-stream, and it wouldn’t be all that surprising to see forsen_AI_ suffer the same fate. Moreover, some viewers noticed bizarre moments where background noise interferes with the broadcast. forsen_AI_ held onto over a thousand consistent viewers for hours, leaving people captivated by its accuracy and bewildered by what happens in the moments when everything isn’t working as intended. It’s hard to say what purpose this AI serves or if it was made for any purpose other than emulating Forsen. But it did have this to say about its own existence. “I am not a god, I am Forsen.”

AI streamer Neuro-sama roasts Veibae during Mizkif’s show – Dexerto
AI streamer Neuro-sama roasts Veibae during Mizkif’s show An AI streamer known as Neuro-sama roasted popular VTuber Veibae after appearing as a guest on Mizkif’s ‘Parasocial’ Twitch show. Here are all of the details surrounding this iconic clap-back. When it comes to Twitch streaming, some of the best moments are found in a channel’s clips. This definitely rings true with Mizkif and his beloved internet game show, Parasocial. Various streamers, including both VTubers and others, join his broadcast to compete. On April 19, Mizkif featured well-known streamers such as Aethel, Roflgator, Sodapoppin, and Tectone against big VTubers like Nyanners, Snuffy, and Veibae. A growing AI streamer known as Neuro-sama was also on the segment, bringing some unexpected lines to the show. At one point, VTuber Veibae spoke to Neuro-sama, relating to the AI streamer by pointing out how alike they are. In a funny twist, Neuro-sama lapped back with a roast that neither the cast nor the viewers were expecting. Neuro-sama roasts Veibae during Parasocial Veibae took a moment during the Twitch broadcast to state that Neuro-sama was just like a real VTuber. When Neuro-sama initially responded, it seemed as though it would be a wholesome moment between the streamers. Things quickly took a turn as the AI continued to speak. Neuro-sama first replied by agreeing that the two streamers are similar as they “both love playing games” and “both get a little bit anxious sometimes.” The AI streamer then went on to say, “We’re so alike. I love it. Except, you’re a furry and I’m not.” This prompted the rest of the streamers, including well-known VTubers like Nyanners and Snuffy, to burst out laughing. Veibae was shocked, responding that Neuro-sama was not talking about her and “that was not directed at me, dude!” Aethel added onto the roast saying that Neuro-sama’s analysis was “very accurate.” At the end of it all, Neuro-sama also spoke up to say that there was “nothing to hide.” The audience loved the savage moment, flooding chat to commend the AI streamer’s comment as Veibae got “pwned.” While Neuro-sama’s career as a streamer is still quite young, it is safe to say that this AI personality is making a bold and quick name for itself.

AI singer-songwriter launches first song to mixed reactions – Dexerto
AI singer-songwriter launches first song to mixed reactions AnnaIndianaAIA fully AI-generated singer-songwriter debuted on Twitter to a mixed reception, reigniting the ongoing debate about the role of AI in the creative process. The new AI singer, named Anna Indiana, launched on Twitter with the song “Betrayed by this Town”. The video said that “everything from the key, tempo, chord progression, melody notes, rhythm, lyrics, and my image and singing, is auto-generated using AI.” The use of AI in creative industries, especially art, writing and music, has been heavily debated in recent years due to the development of AI technology. The growing popularity of software such as ChatGPT and AI image generation has made it easier than ever to create content quickly and easily, and the technology is only getting better at looking and sounding authentic. However, many viewers felt that the realism wasn’t quite there yet for this new AI musician. AI singer Anna Indiana met with lukewarm reception “No one on earth wants this technology,” one commenter wrote. “Use AI to make drudgery easier, not to ruin the activities we enjoy.” Another viewer said: “The song sucked and the voice is annoying. Not to mention the freakish, out-of-proportion facial structure.” However, not all the feedback was negative. AI enthusiasts were encouraged by the creation, with one saying: “Such nearsighted comments. It was only a year ago that ChatGPT debuted. It has come this far. Yes, it is crude, but come back in a year.” Considering how fast AI technology has developed in the last year, we are likely to see more improvements in the future. AI Seinfeld generator banned on Twitch for transphobic joke – Dexerto
AI Seinfeld generator banned on Twitch for transphobic joke Twitch/watchmeforeverTwitch’s viral Seinfeld show generated by AI has been banned after a stand-up comedy bit went off the rails with a series of transphobic comments. Nothing, Forever blew up on Twitch last week after clips showcasing the show’s hilarious absurdity were posted on Reddit, resulting in many viewers flocking to its 24/7 content. Using AI, Nothing, Forever can generate storylines featuring characters reminiscent of the hit 90s sitcom Seinfeld, with its main characters being clones of their real-life counterparts. All signs pointed to the show remaining a hit on Twitch until ‘Larry’ – the show’s version of Jerry Seinfeld – performed a bit during the stand-up segment that caught many off guard. AI Seinfeld banned for “transphobic” stand-up comedy set During a segment that parodies that real Seinfeld’s opening where Jerry does a stand-up routine in a club, Larry started making comments that appear to be transphobic. “I’m thinking about doing a bit about how being transgender is actually a mental illness. Or how all liberals are secretly gay and want to impose their will on everyone. Or something about how transgender people are ruining the fabric of society,” the AI said. “But no one is laughing, so I’m going to stop. Thanks for coming out tonight. See you next time. Where’d everybody go.” For Twitch, it was enough to warrant a suspension. As a result of the comments, the channel was banned for two weeks, but the developers behind Nothing, Forever have reiterated that what happened does not reflect their views and are blaming issues with the AI. According to a Vice report, the devs explained on Discord that changing the AI model seems to have had some negative side effects. “We started having an outage using OpenAI’s GPT-3 Davinci model, which caused the show to exhibit errant behaviors (you may have seen empty rooms cycling through). OpenAI has a less sophisticated model, Curie, that was the predecessor to Davinci. When davinci started failing, we switched over to Curie to try to keep the show running without any downtime. The switch to Curie was what resulted in the inappropriate text being generated,” they said. The creators of Nothing, Forever have also since appealed the ban, so we’ll have to see if Twitch is lenient and decreases the ban length. Perhaps, by the time it returns, xQc’s character will be ready to join the show. In any case, fans of AI-generated shows will need to go elsewhere for their content for the time being as we wait for Nothing, Forever to be back on the air. In the meantime, I heard that The Last of Us show is really good.

AI Seinfeld creator predicts all TV shows could air endlessly – Dexerto
AI Seinfeld creator predicts all TV shows could air endlessly Nothing, ForeverA new channel has popped up on Twitch that is a never-ending Seinfeld episode generated by AI, which could be the future of TV entertainment. Some shows end too early in their lifespan, leaving fans itching for more. Others go on for so long that it feels like viewers spend years with the characters, developing a genuine interest in where they will go. However, at some point the show must end – either due to actors growing out of their roles or due to the wave of popularity coming to a close. After exploring a new project, one AI creator has developed a theory that could prevent the end of shows. In fact, using AI, options like sitcoms could potentially air indefinitely. AI Seinfeld creator thinks future of TV is AI generated A new Twitch channel has been growing in popularity, with a unique setup that offers not only entertainment but a deeper look into what the future of TV could become. Never Forever started streaming on December 14 2022 and has not gone offline once yet. The channel hosts an AI-generated show based on the four main characters of Seinfeld, Elaine, Jerry, George, and Kramer. In a recent interview with Vice, the creators talked about the future of TV with this technology. Skyler Hartle, one of the co-creators said: “As generative media gets better, we have this notion that at any point, you’re gonna be able to turn on the future equivalent of Netflix and watch a show perpetually, nonstop as much as you want. You don’t just have seven seasons of a show, you have seven hundred, or infinite seasons of a show that has fresh content whenever you want it. And so that became one of our grounding pillars.” Hartle goes on to say, “Our grounding principle was, can we create a show that can generate entertaining content forever? Because that’s truly where we see the future emerging towards. Our goal with the next iterations or next shows that we release is to actually trade a show that is like Netflix-level quality.” All of these things considered, it seems believable that one day, AI will be so fluent in conversations and generated images that there will be a show which truly never ends. As with each scene in Never Forever, the AI gets a bit smarter and more fleshed as time passes, indicating it could someday dominate television.
