Genius Disney Dreamlight Valley idea would fix “frustrating” player homes Disney / GameloftDisney Dreamlight Valley may thrive in its cooking, collecting, and quests, but its decorating is a major point of contention, more specifically, the use of player homes. As of the most recent update, there are now 33 characters residing in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and a vast majority of them have their own houses, from ice palaces to floating sea caves. Naturally, some fit into certain biomes perfectly, but others can feel like a bit of a stretch. As such, players find themselves having to make room for tons of large-scale homes, while still working to make their Valley look pretty. With that in mind, one Disney Dreamlight Valley player suggested a major overhaul for such homes and it could just make decorating the most enjoyable aspect of the cozy game. “Let us use player house skins on villager houses too” shared the player on the game’s dedicated subreddit, going on to explain that the idea could solve “building bloat,” having too many mandatory buildings in such a small space. “Please let me reskin villager houses the way I can skin my player house” they continued. Doing so could allow players the chance to decorate the homes around their own designs, and could promote more purchases of the house skins in the premium shop, causing incentives for Gameloft and for players. Fans were instantly thrilled with the suggestion, with many wishing for it to be implemented, commenting, “This is a great idea” and calling for Gameloft to add the proposed changes. The aesthetics weren’t the only frustration among the community, with plenty calling for the size of the homes to be rescaled: “That’s a good idea, or at least make them a consistent size, Mirabels is huge! And she’s got a teeny tiny room, at least with FGM, she’s got a little pumpkin cottage, and a little room.” However, not all players were convinced, with some pointing out why the homes are their current design: “I get why they don’t and probably never will which is that the houses are meant to reflect the owners rather than being cookie-cutter…these are iconic Disney characters with at least some of their homes based around iconic Disney imagery. Disney Dreamlight Valley’s new Boutique is a single players worst nightmare Disney / GameloftDisney Dreamlight Valley’s new Touch of Magic Boutique has many fans thrilled, but it poses a major problem for single players. The new Thrills and Frills Disney Dreamlight Valley update is shaping up to be epic, it’s got new characters, a theme park-inspired Star Path, and the introduction of a brand new building, otherwise known as the Boutique. During Gamelofts sneak peek, we saw the Touch of Magic Boutique, which serves as a place to show off your Touch of Magic creations. It also allows your friends to gain access to your creations during a Valley Visit, making those enviable creations much more accessible. While its accessibility is certainly something to be celebrated, it poses a key problem to all those players without anyone to join in on the fun. After all, who can you share your designs with if you don’t have any Valley Visits, and how can you get access to anyone else’s designs without pestering people you don’t know? Ultimately, if you don’t have anyone participating in Valley Visits, then you won’t be able to share your designs, making it feel a little pointless to create in the first place, especially if you’re not too keen on Touch of Magic anyway. Thankfully, the DDV community is huge, and there are some fantastic creative players out there providing new Touch of Magic outfits every day – but that only makes it more awkward when you want to get hold of their item. To get hold of it, it’s likely you’ll need to contact the player and arrange a Valley Visit, which can be tough for players around the world or those who would like to keep their locations private. This is especially valid now that the use of tools has been enabled on Valley Visits, meaning players can mildly mess with your Valley if you invite guests you don’t trust. One way to combat this issue would be to design the Boutique much like Scrooge’s store. Rather than creating your own designs and showcasing them, the mannequins could display other players’ creations, allowing fans to buy them and give the designer some extra Moonstones or Star Coins, or even Dreamlight. As mentioned in the sneak peek, players will get rewards for their creations, but being able to sell their designs could encourage players to participate outside of the challenges. This would encourage players to create more designs as they would get some sort of reward for their ideas. You could even showcase them on the second floor of the Boutique or in a certain section, for those who want to show their own creations off to their friends. The community is echoing the same frustrations, with many worrying that the new building would be void for them as single players, while others are concerned about their lack of ToM skills or the awkwardness of asking a stranger for their design. The full details of the Touch of Magic Boutique are still relatively up in the air, as the building doesn’t come out until May 1. So it could have all the proposed ideas or could become less of a concern for players. But only time will tell.

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s latest update breaks key Mulan unlock quest Disney / GameloftPlayers trying to unlock Mulan and Mushu in Disney Dreamlight Valley are facing a major hurdle right now, as the Dapper Delights update has broken one important task. Adding Mulan and Mushu to the Valley requires players to complete a series of quests in the Mulan Realm. This includes Protecting the Camp, which involves the player cleaning up after a landslide, planting trees, and crafting Sandbags to prevent flooding. However, players are currently having trouble completing the second part of the quest following the Disney Dreamlight Valley’s latest update. Protecting the Camp tree planting task impacted by bug During the quest, Mulan gives the player 10 Tree Seeds to plant and water around the area. From there, players have to find 10 preset patches of soil to complete this part of the quest. However, since the Dapper Delights update released, players have been reporting that some of the spots are missing. “I need help. Ive exhausted my eye balls trying to find the last two holes for the protecting the camp quest and ive lost my mind,” said one Reddit user, who was only able to plant eight of the necessary seeds. “I can’t for the life of me find the last two holes to plant the tree seeds! I’ve watched videos, the last two holes aren’t anywhere to be found! I’ve untracked the quest, exited the realm, closed down game and restarted and they still haven’t spawned in!” said another. Unlike with other gardening tasks, players cannot use their Shovel to create more spaces to plant seeds. That means those who can’t find the final hole or two (myself included) cannot progress. Fortunately, developer Gameloft is aware of the situation. In an email response shared on Reddit, customer service told a player, “Please rest assured that we are aware of this issue with the ‘Protecting the Camp’ quest occurring for some players. “Our development team is working to fix it for all the players affected as soon as possible.” While we don’t know how long it will take, fortunately, the Dapper Delights update gave players plenty to do in the meantime, such as the new Star Path and unlocking Tiana.

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Dreamlight Fest community rewards are a big disappointment Disney / GameloftThe Disney Dreamlight Valley Dreamlight Parks Fest has faced another disappointment, with the game’s community rewards now feeling pretty worthless for many seasoned players. It’s no secret that the Dreamlight Parks Fest hasn’t been the most popular among the community, with many slamming the repetitiveness of its cupcake quests or the frustrating bugs some players have come across (although that has now been addressed). However, now the game’s themed community rewards are garnering similar frustration – and as a seasoned player, it’s easy to see why. From various ingredients, crafting materials, and decorations, players have certainly been treated to a lot of gifts during the Disney Dreamlight Valley Dreamlight Parks Fest, but we can’t help but feel disappointed. Sure, grabbing some free Iron Ingots or ingredients to make more cupcakes is useful, but to give us craftable items as a reward for cooking over 450,000 cupcakes feels almost insulting – particularly if you’re one of the unlucky ones who only just crafted the Mickey Mouse Water Tower. The Tower is the primary point of contention here, as it costs 100 Iron Ingots to craft and is renowned for being one of the tougher pieces of furniture to create. As such, many players – myself included – found themselves with a free version of the item they worked for months to build. Such rewards have fans calling for the ability to dismantle items to get the materials back, while others are slamming Gameloft for giving out craftable items instead of unique rewards or even previous Star Path items. For some, the event’s community rewards will be a welcome addition, and a huge weight off their backs when it comes to grabbing resources. However, for seasoned players, it just feels like a waste of time, even if there’s so much more you can do in the Disney Dreamlight Valley Dreamlight Parks Fest.

As soon as she came out, the community rallied to share their hatred for the design, with many slamming her “imposter” design. Now, a year later, Gameloft has teased that major changes could be coming to the character, with her design being completely changed. Naturally, fans were thrilled with the news, with one user sharing the difference on the Disney Dreamlight Valley Reddit, joking that “Bullying Works! Belle has been fixed!” The images in question show Belle as she is before the update, and a clip of the teaser trailer, which showcases a brand new look for the book-loving princess. Many took to the comments to share their love for the changes, adding “I hope the dream styles were updated to match. She looks much better.” “OMG this is so much better” echoed another fan, going on to say that “Belle is one of my favorite characters but I couldn’t even look at her in the game. Since Belle and Beast arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley, fans have been slamming the Beast’s implementation. Some find his incessant complaining and lack of confidence a little annoying, while others think the design is ultimately lacking. Now, one user has shared their frustrations on the Disney Dreamlight Valley Reddit, suggesting a relatively simple way to fix all those issues. “Am I the only one wishing beast could transform into his human form” shared the poster, going on to add that “hopefully it comes in the next star path.. or as a premium item!! If they could also give him a little confidence while they’re at it.” As previously mentioned, his lack of confidence and beastial form is a primary point of frustration for the playerbase, and many think he needs to get the Ursula treatment to allow a new, more confident form through either an item in the Premium Shop, the next Star Path, or even as part of a Dream Bundle like Ursula herself. Many other fans quickly took to the comments to agree with the poster, with some adding that Gameloft should “Make it a Dreamstyles so ppl can pick which form they want” and that they “would love his Princely (Adam) form!” They even began brainstorming a few related questlines, with one fan commenting: “I swear we need a whole Star Path that’s just ‘Kristoff and Eric start a fishing club so the men can learn to have healthy male friendships’. However, despite the ever-changing features, one element many fans were looking forward to was the promise that, once out of early access, Disney Dreamlight Valley would become free to play, with Gameloft making their money off the in-game currency and other packs. Now, in a recent announcement, that’s been reverted. Disney Dreamlight Valley will not become free to play Sharing the update through X, Disney Dreamlight Valley revealed that the game would be getting a global launch on December 5, 2023. Along with that announcement, the team also explained that they’ve “made the decision to remain a paid game for the foreseeable future. This means we will not make the transition to be a free-to-play game when we leave Early Access on December 5.” They went on to explain how “This choice ensures that Disney Dreamlight Valley will be able to continue delivering a premium game experience for all players. It’s important to us that we maintain our promise to keep delivering free content updates that add new characters, realms, clothing, furniture, and more surprises to your Valley. Disney Dreamlight Valley hints at Fairy Godmother’s potential debut The Walt Disney CompanyDisney Dreamlight Valley’s announcement teased that the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella may become a villager. Each update of Disney Dreamlight Valley introduces more features like themed Realms, new resources, and customization options. In April 2023, the sandbox title unveiled the Pride of the Valley patch – which added The Lion King’s Simba and Nala as villagers. Since entering its early access period in September 2022, DDV has received four major updates. Sometime in June 2023, the Disney/Pixar game will release its fifth update. While Dreamlight Valley has already hinted at some of Update 5’s contents, it has now supported the rumors of a Cinderella character’s arrival. Disney Dreamlight Valley features Fairy Godmother’s wand On Twitter, Disney Dreamlight Valley gave a little taste of the contents of Update 5. DDV announced that new items would be coming to the Valley. The image shows that the game included an artisanal bench alongside Fairy Godmother’s wand. Disney fans pointed out how both items are present in the original Cinderella film. “Please do try not to forget your personal belongings when stopping to take a rest, though,” the announcement reads. Previously, Dreamlight Valley players speculated Cinderella could appear in an upcoming update. Users came to that conclusion based on the mysterious pumpkin house in the Forgotten Lands. The game has also included Cinderella-themed items at Scrooge McDuck’s Store. Another guess for the pumpkin house owner was Nightmare Before Christmas’s Jack Skellington. On the other hand, players theorized the film’s villain – Oogie Boogie – could live there. Disney Dreamlight Valley survey sparks fears over possible Star Wars crossover Disney / GameloftDeveloper Gameloft has shared a new survey for Disney Dreamlight Valley players, and questions regarding possible new content have some concerned that Star Wars and Baby Yoda could be making an unwelcome appearance. Following previous Disney Dreamlight Valley surveys, Gameloft again asks the community for feedback and provides some potential hints for new content. The questions that are understandably getting the most attention concern franchises that are either minimally or not at all represented in the game. A later question asks about specific characters from these properties that could join the Valley as new Villagers. While some choices are innocuous, the inclusion of Star Wars and Grogu from The Mandalorian has raised some eyebrows, with many fans hoping Baby Yoda stays in a galaxy far, far away. Reddit post about the survey is full of reactions from players, who say they don’t want Star Wars content, particularly characters, in Disney Dreamlight Valley. “I’d be okay with some Star Wars themed outfits and furniture, but I do not want characters in my valley,” said one user. “The quickness with which I selected ‘Not at all interested’ when I saw effing Grogu…” commented another. One Twitter user took things further, saying “Please for the love of God PLEASE do not add star wars.” Others suggested a possible compromise in the form of separate DLC like the A Rift in Time expansion, which essentially relegates its exclusive content to a separate world. Disney Dreamlight Valley survey teases future content in upcoming updates Disney Dreamlight Valley reveals potential future Star Paths There was an overwhelming amount of new content teased in the DDV survey, but one of the most extensive was undeniably the Star Path. There were nine different options for players to choose from, ranging from gaming to classic Disney and even a focus on the likes of Hercules and the new Percy Jackson TV show: Gamer Star Path – Greek Mythology Star Path – Disney Classics Star Path – Wonderland Star Path – Mythical Star Path – Decades Star Path – Cottage Core Star Path – Mermaid Star Path – Princess Star Path – Naturally, these are only ideas from the Gameloft team and they could appear in future updates or they could be abandoned, but it’s still extremely exciting to see some new Star Paths on the horizon. Especially the ones focused on some unseen characters, like Alice in Wonderland and Hercules. Six new characters could be coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley On the theme of new characters, there was also a section dedicated to asking fans who they wanted to see join the game. So far, we have some great faces set to arrive in DDV thanks to the game’s teasers and roadmap, but some new names could soon be joining the roster. In the survey, Gameloft asked players who they’d like to see, giving the below list as the options: Timon and Pumbaa – Lumiere and Cogsworth – Rex and BoPeep – Many may already be aware that Timon and Pumbaa have been teased to arrive in the Valley, but this is the first time we’ve heard of any other characters mentioned above, so fans could be in for some surprising additions soon. New Dream Bundle to arrive in Disney Dreamlight Valley soon If new characters and Star Paths weren’t enough, we also got a glimpse into some new Dream Bundle being added to Disney Dreamlight Valley. While Gameloft said they were only “considering future Dream Bundles”, the success of the WALL-E and Ursula sets could highlight some new content. The options you could choose from were: Stitch – Belle – Mickey Mouse – Scrooge McDuck – Olaf – Vanellope – Ariel – Kristoff – Or your choice of character under other – Naturally, it’s key to remember that just because these were mentioned it doesn’t mean they could be the subject of the next bundle. After all, it depends on what others vote for and whether they can design a bundle or story for that character. Disney Dreamlight Valley simple tip lets players avoid Remy quest Disney / GameloftThe addition of daily Chez Remy Mobile tasks to Disney Dreamlight Valley has proven divisive, but one player has found a simple way to avoid its most frustrating assignments. In addition to adding Mulan and Mushu to the cozy game, The Lucky Dragon update also introduced Chez Remy Mobile. This involves daily cooking-themed tasks to earn a new material called Wrought Iron. But while some players have welcomed the addition of more repeatable quests, others have criticized their execution. Players have specifically slammed one of the Special Delivery tasks for asking players to cook a staggering 22 pies for the measly reward of three Wrought Iron. Fortunately, one player has found an incredibly simple workaround that allows players to avoid tasks like this. As user CelestialRose revealed in a post on the DisneyDreamlightValley subreddit, “You can re-roll Remy’s quests if you don’t accept them.” This is thanks to Remy always giving a preview of the task before you accept it. “I got the dreaded pie eating content quest … ” they shared. “I said no and he said to come back if I change my mind.” After rejecting the quest, the player spoke to Remy again, who gave them “a totally different quest for Chez Remy.” After trying it myself, I can confirm that it is possible to reroll your daily delivery quest by turning Remy down until he mentions a task you’re willing to complete. That, of course, requires some knowledge of the quests and their respective tasks. After all, Remy does not tell you exactly what you need to do until you’ve agreed to help. This method also appears to have one limitation: All rerolled quests seem to be for the same character. As one commenter shared, “I banished Mirabel from my valley and got a quest for her a couple days ago so I tried for like 5 minutes to get a quest for someone else and every single one was for Mirabel.” That tracks with my own experience, as during my test, I kept getting assignments that involved Anna. Still, even if there are some limitations, this trick should help Disney Dreamlight Valley players avoid the most time and resource-consuming quests Chez Remy Mobile has in store.

So, here’s how to unlock the Royal Hourglass and how to use it in your Valley. Gathering, cooking, mining, farming, and snapping awesome photos are the bloodstream of Disney Dreamlight Valley. Sure, it’s a loveable, cozy title filled with adorable characters, events, and Star Paths, but the game’s baseline is resource management. Naturally, you can’t do any of those activities without using some handy tools, from the Pickaxe to the Watering Can. However, a brand new Royal Tool has now been added to Disney Dreamlight Valley, adding some exciting features to the game. So, here’s how to unlock the Royal Hourglass in Disney Dreamlight Valley and use it for yourself. How to unlock the Royal Hourglass in Disney Dreamlight Valley To get hold of the Royal Hourglass in Disney Dreamlight Valley, simply follow these steps: Head to Eternity Isle and find the Ancient’s Landing biome. – Speak to Eve and befriend her through The Flying Metal Nuisance quest – Once you do so, she will give you the Royal Hourglass. – Thankfully, getting hold of this Royal Tool is pretty easy and only requires you to have the expansion and make friends with Eve. How to complete The Flying Metal Nuisance quest Upon completing The Secrets of Eternity Isle, Jafar will want you to unlock the new Hourglass tool. In his words, the Royal Tool is being guarded by a “pesky metal nuisance,” which you’ve probably figured out is Eve. Jafar will upgrade your Pickaxe, allowing you to break those bronze rocks blocking off parts of the Isle. From there, cross the bridge west of The Docks (breaking any rocks in your way) to find Eve. Just as Jafar said, Eve is standing guard in front of the Hourglass and won’t let you have it just yet. Talk to Jafar using one of the Hologram Stations, and he’ll tell you to go to Eve’s house to find a clue. Eve’s house is in the same area as the robot, just southwest of where she stands. Inside, you’ll find piles of junk. Removing those reveals a Memory, at which point you’ll need to speak to Jafar again. He’ll suggest recreating the Memory for Eve by finding where it occurred. The hidden area is just behind the waterfall, located between the main area of The Docks and where Eve is. Break the bronze rocks to get inside the cave. There, you’ll have to find the two pieces of the Robot Costume, both of which are inside a brown and white chest in the cave. Once you have them, put the costume on and talk to Eve. She’ll give you a recipe for a dish called “Best Fish Forever,” which you’ll need to prepare with Robot Fish, Cumin, Celery, and Sea Snail. Robot Fish can be found by fishing at The Docks (look for orange ripples) – Cumin can be foraged anywhere in the parts of the Isle you have access to – Celery seeds can be purchased from Goofy’s Stall in The Docks and take 10 minutes to grow – Sea Snails can be found by fishing at The Docks (look for blue ripples) – From there, you can cook Best Fish Forever and bring it to Eve. At this point, she’ll finally allow you to take the Royal Hourglass. While you now have access to this useful Royal Tool, it hasn’t reached its full power yet. You’ll then have to complete The Sands in the Hourglass quest to find the Jewels of Time and unlock the Royal Hourglass’ full potential. How to use the Royal Hourglass in Disney Dreamlight Valley There are many ways to use the Royal Hourglass in Disney Dreamlight Valley: Control time – Clear the Swirling Sands – Uncover hidden treasure – Craft new objects like Cookers, Gardeners, and Vacuums – Clearing away Swirling Sands is as easy as highlighting them with the Tool equipped and pressing the button, similar to clearing magical weeds. To uncover hidden treasures, you must sense them by pressing the use tool button. This will show you which direction to go in, with the light going from blue to orange when you’re close. Once you’re in the right spot, you must repeatedly press the button to get the treasure. The Royal Hourglass can also be upgraded using the Mist you collect from completing Eternity Isle tasks. You can do this by going to the Timebending Table in the area you unlocked at the start of The Sands of the Hourglass. Disney Dreamlight Valley roadmap hints Daisy Duck and Mulan coming in 2024 Walt Disney Co.Disney Dreamlight Valley’s 2024 content roadmap may hint at the future arrival of characters such as Mulan and Daisy Duck. As previously promised, Gameloft shared a free content roadmap for Disney Dreamlight Valley on November 1. The roadmap covers freebies scheduled to hit the game in December 2023 and throughout 2024. Notably, December 5 will welcome the Pumpkin King into the experience. A new Realm Door should open in the months that follow, as well. By the early spring, players can expect another Villager to move into the Valley. With late spring promising a new Realm. Finally, 2024’s summer months will see a new Princess join the Valley. Spring 2024 should prove especially interesting for DDV if assumptions about the upcoming characters are accurate. Disney Dreamlight Valley’s roadmap teases Mulan and Daisy Duck The graphic for DDV’s free content roadmap assigns images to all four of the aforementioned content releases. For instance, the photo attached to the December 5 update makes it clear that the Pumpkin King – Jack Skellington – is on the way. Similarly, Mike from Monsters, Inc. features in the Realm Door photo for early 2024. The summer 2024 spot houses a drawing of Princess Tiana. The spring content seems a bit more subtle, though. But the tiny duck standing against the front of the boat in the “Early Spring 2024” segment suggests one thing – Daisy Duck is the “vibrant new Villager” coming to DDV. In addition, the roadmap’s “Late Spring 2024” section includes pink flowers that look a lot like those in Mulan. It’s possible, then, that the world of Mulan is coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley in the first half of next year. Aptly named The Lucky Dragon, this free update will focus on the film Mulan, with the introduction of Mushu and Mulan as primary characters in the story and ones you can befriend. This comes after many requests from the community for Mushu to arrive in Disney Dreamlight Valley. On top of this, it’s been revealed that The Lucky Dragon update will be released on June 26, 2024, meaning fans don’t have too long to get their Valley in order and prepare for Mulan and Mushu’s impending release. In fact, the initial teaser comes just over one week before the full update release, so you better prepare soon. Gameloft caused quite a stir recently after announcing their upcoming update, as some confusion led fans to believe it would be released on April 24, 2024. However, after clearing up any confusion and releasing their latest Developer Update video, Disney Dreamlight Valley’s next update finally has a name and a release date – and it’s coming very soon. Disney Dreamlight Valley’s next update will be arriving on May 1, 2024, so you won’t have long to wait or prepare for all the new content. Named the Thrills & Frills update, Disney Dreamlight Valley will be seeing the arrival of Oswald The Lucky Rabbit and Daisy Duck as well as the inclusion of more Disney Park content as part of the ‘A Day at Disney’ Star Path, after many called for new rides to be added to the game. In fact, Gameloft has clearly listened to fans, adding in the highly demanded flying carpet ride to DDV. The rides also have new functionality, with players being able to take photos from the rides, meaning you can ride your attractions now. On top of this, multiplayer has been greatly improved, with players able to use their own tools around their friends’ valleys. This includes fishing, farming, and even removing Night Thorns. As teased on April 1, a new Touch of Magic building will be arriving with Daisy Duck, called the Boutique. The sandbox title offers a Standard and Premium Star Path – the latter costs Moonstones in exchange for fast-forwarding through missions. Recently, Dreamlight Valley launched the Disney Parks Star Path to celebrate 100 years of the company. The Star Path featured furniture like a Dreamlight Figment Topiary and a Ranger Donald costume. Now, the game has unveiled a Pixar-themed Star Path to release alongside Dreamlight Valley’s fifth major update. Disney Dreamlight Valley Star Path focuses on Pixar On Twitter, Disney Dreamlight Valley revealed the Wonder of Pixar Star Path. The Disney/Pixar-themed title attached an image of upcoming items like a Turning Red onesie and a Finding Nemo fish tank. The release date for the Pixar Star Path remains unknown, but it will likely launch at the same time as Update 5. However, they do cost Moonstones, so players often need to be careful with what they choose to purchase, given the Moonstones cost out-of-game money. However, one item in the shop has caused community uproar, with fans warning other players to avoid buying one “scam” item after feeling incredibly misled by its advertised size. Disney Dreamlight Valley fans call for refunds for “scam” item “What is this wings” posted one user on the Disney Dreamlight Valley Reddit. They went on to say how they were a “bit sad I spent my moonstone on this.” Attached to the post was an image of the ‘Small Pink Wings’ which are in the store for 1,750 Moonstones, so roughly just over $4.99. One of the most recent additions to Disney Dreamlight Valley is the titular Beast from Beauty and the Beast, who joined the game alongside his princess. After being teased since Dreamlight Valley’s announcement, the September 13 update finally gave players the ability to add Belle and the Beast to their Valleys. This allows players to befriend the duo and opens up new quests. However, some players are taking issue with the way the game handles the Beast and hope for some changes in future updates. Players feel bad for the Beast and want the option to call him “Adam” As pointed out by Reddit user PhysicalAccount4244, referring to the Beast by his moniker rather than his canon human name feels cruel. “I mean, he is really a human that was cursed. And so he has a name.. a human name…But everyone in the Valley, and even in the movie, calls him Beast anyway,” they say in the post. Adding to this is the fact that the Beast seems “extremely insecure because of his current form.” To the user, calling him the Beast “just solidifies his view of himself as a raging beast.. which is relly mean, and somthing only bullies do.” Others agreed with the sentiment, with one player saying, “Devastated every time that I go talk to him for one of his quests, he says SUCH sad things about himself. While most Dream Styles for characters are just costumes, there are examples of more dramatic transformations. That’s exactly what happened in the January 10 Premium Shop when Disney Dreamlight Valley introduced the Beauty and the Beast Royal Jacket set, including a long and belted jacket – and fans fell in love instantly, even suggesting a major change to the way the store works. Disney Dreamlight Valley players love new Premium Shop outfit Sharing a picture of their avatar wearing the Royal Jacket on the Disney Dreamlight Valley Reddit, one player explained how they’ve “never purchased anything so fast! Additionally, the specific gems sent to Merlin match the classic princess’ dress, and the poisoned apple bears a resemblance to the skull-shaped rock on the beach – another mystery Dreamlight Valley players hope will be addressed soon. Also fueling this theory is the fact that some players temporarily received an unreleased dress based on that of the Evil Queen, indicating that there’s at least some Snow White content in the works. Other players think the Mysterious Gifter is a character who has already been teased for a future update: Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. However, while some elements have been fixed, the exciting new recipes, characters, quests, and adventures are reportedly being halted by one key bug, that has not been fixed yet — despite being present for over a year. Disney Dreamlight Valley fans have had enough of one long-lasting bug Sharing their frustrations on Reddit, one Disney Dreamlight Valley fan explained how they were “so over this bug.” They went on to say: “This bug has been around since the game first released… It’s been a year and 4 months now. The menu in the image gets stuck on the screen and all you can do is close your game and lose progress… and it happens to me multiple times whenever I play. Caused my loading screen to get stuck at 50% multiple times as well” Naturally, that bug is extremely frustrating as it not only removes progress in between the last save but also stops players from being able to do anything inside the menus like fast travel or look at quests. “I am also a victim of this bug” explained one user in the comments, “I try to save as often as I can remember, but as soon as I get distracted and go to fast travel, suddenly I feel like I’ve lost the 20 minutes of gameplay.” Not being able to teleport in a game as large as Disney Dreamlight Valley is extremely frustrating, especially since one of the main ways to visit Eternity Isle is by teleporting. Many players have already added Woody’s carousel to their theme park designs, or strategically placed Anna and Kristoff’s ice palace in the Frosted Heights. With the addition of Daisy Duck, many players were thrilled to add her home to their growing roster of Mickey Mouse-themed buildings. After all, we already have Minnie, Goofy, and Mickey’s homes, all with similar designs. However, her home doesn’t quite fit the designs of its Mickey Mouse & Friends counterparts and takes on a more cartoon style instead. As such, many players have taken to the Disney Dreamlight Valley Reddit to express their frustrations, with hundreds slamming the fact that “style consistency went out the tiny cartoon window.” Others were quick to share their confusion regarding the changes, with some commenting that “her house just stands out and looks so different amongst her neighbors.” While it certainly looks different, it’s important to note that the community sentiment wasn’t all bad, with some arguing that her home compliments Minnie’s, inspiring players to create a space for the best friends. It’s entirely likely that these theories do hold weight, after Gameloft teased a Popcorn Squirrel and a Pretzel Stand in their Star Path, suggesting more theme park designs coming our way. In fact, the same teaser shows a sparkle, car, and a dog. If you see the dog as a pet, you’ll quickly be able to put together carpet, all that needs to be added is the sparkle which could mean magic, and you have the Magic Carpet ride. There’s no concrete proof of whether we’ll see more rides in the next update, but if Gameloft’s teasing means anything, there’s certainly a chance.

As many Disney Dreamlight Valley fans will already know after its highly anticipated arrival to the popular cozy game, the newly added Glitchy Pixel Duplicates serve to fill the gap for a missing resource in your crafting, while Pixel Shards are the material you need to craft the Glitchy Pixel Duplicates and the other similar item, the Pixelized Cooking Flame. However, when the items were added in the December 5 update, many reported them to be broken, explaining that they took all of the players’ Dreamlight, making it a pretty devastating bug. Initially, there was a hotfix to aid this bug back in December 2023, but it seems like it didn’t completely solve the issue. Luckily, as shared by the Disney Dreamlight Valley X account, there’s a brand new Hotfix to help squash any annoying bugs. Then the Night Shards will need to be crafted using five Night Shards and one Dream Shard. You can find an Onyx by mining the rock spots around the Valley. Upon starting A Rift in Time’s content, you’ll still need to complete a quick quest before you can gain access to Eternity Isle. Here’s how to complete The Port of Many Worlds quest. Talk to Merlin After your initial conversation with Jafar, you’ll need to talk to Merlin. The old wizard has remembered something important about accessing different worlds beyond the Valley itself. Merlin will ask you to meet him at the Dream Castle after a brief talk. Note that Merlin won’t automatically walk towards the Castle, but he’ll be there whenever you arrive. Go to the Dream Castle Once you’ve reached the Dream Castle, you’ll need to speak to Merlin again. It’s not immediately obvious where he is, so go up the stairs on the left side. You’ll see him near a black gate and some gated-off doors (presumably leading to future Realms). Interacting with him leads to a cutscene in which you two will enter the gate. This leads to the Stardust Port, a new area that connects Dreamlight Valley to other worlds like Eternity Isle.
