WandaVision cosplayer transforms herself into mind-boggling Scarlet Witch Instagram: @madsfive / Marvel StudiosA talented cosplayer transformed herself into Wanda Maximoff, better known as the Scarlet Witch, from WandaVision, and the outfit, which she created in three days, is absolutely sensational. Wanda Maximoff, better known as the Scarlet Witch, stole the show in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Her popularity snowballed to the point where she finally got her own television series, WandaVision. The first season just wrapped up, and it’s already a smash-hit. The premise is simple: three weeks after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Wanda and Vision are trying to live a normal suburban life and keep their identities hidden. But as the plot moves forward, they realize something fishy is going on. The Scarlet Witch has always been a popular choice in the cosplay community. However, WandaVision’s success has made the flame shine even brighter. A cosplayer named Mads already has an impressive series of cosplays. But she decided to give the Scarlet Witch a crack, and she absolutely nailed it. “This little cosplay speedrun was so fun. [I] never imagined myself as Wanda, but I love it so much,” she said. This is my first MCU cosplay and I made it in [three] days. I am so damn proud.” Mads managed to make the cosplay using high-density foam primed with black hexflex and painted using acrylic paint and metallic pigments. It looks amazing, and the fact she somehow pulled it off in three days is insane. View this post on Instagram The cosplay captures every little detail of Wanda Maximoff’s new Scarlet Witch costume. It includes everything from the crimson crown, armor, and gloves, to the black pants and shiny silver belt buckle. It’s flawless from head to toe, and that’s why it’s pulling thousands of likes on social media. Fans have described it as amazing, incredible, and outstanding, and their praise is well-deserved.

Walking Dead cosplayer recreates comic-style Clementine in viral TikTok – Dexerto
Walking Dead cosplayer recreates comic-style Clementine in viral TikTok Instagram: Dragon Cosplays / Telltale GamesA cosplayer by the name of Dragon Cosplays on TikTok has gone viral with a unique take on Clementine from the Walking Dead game, painting herself to recreate the original comic-book-like art style. The iconic Walking Dead franchise, which started as a comic-book series and later a TV show, was adapted into a narrative-driven game in 2012 by Telltale Games, focused on an entirely new set of characters and zombie-related craziness. The starring role in all four seasons of the Walking Dead game is orphan Clementine, who is just eight-years-old when we meet her in the first game. As she endures the brutal trials of the post-outbreak world, she becomes older and tougher as the game goes by, but still maintaining the sweetness she had from the very first game. Awesome comic-style Clementine cosplay The game’s art style is very unique. Instead of opting for the most realistic aesthetic, the game instead mimics a style similar to the original comic books, with harsh outlines on the clothes in particular that give the game a unique charm. Dragon Cosplays set out to recreate Clementine as accurately as she could, and that included conquering the immense task of recreating that unique art style in real life. She wears denim jeans as well as a denim jacket, each item of clothing painted with intricate black and white stripes where the folds and seams of the denim are. Underneath she is also wearing a grey zip up, which has also been painted to mimic the way the shadows and highlights are represented in the game. As the video goes on, she unzips her hoodie to reveal a once-white shirt, now dirtied and stained with blood and mud from the tortuous post-apocalyptic world. Even her collarbones, hands, and face sport the same black contour and outlines that make her look as if she had just stepped through the screen out of the popular game universe. And of course, to make her definitively Clem, she wears her signature trucker hat that’s equally as blood-stained, topping off her look and tying the practically perfect outfit together. Dragon Cosplays even participated in a TikTok trend to the song PYRO by Chester Young and Castion where people match up their faces perfectly with their look-a-like, and flick the video back and forth to show just how precise the similarity is. Seeing Dragon Cosplays overlaid with the original video of Clementine just goes to show how thoroughly impressive this costume design is, and how closely this cosplayer must have studied the game to get it just right. The original cosplay video has now gained over 270,000 likes and 1.3 million views, a fantastic result for an equally fantastic cosplay.

Viral Hermione Granger cosplay bewitches Harry Potter fans – Dexerto
Viral Hermione Granger cosplay bewitches Harry Potter fans Warner Bros. / Instagram: meganflockhartThis Hermione Granger cosplay looks like it’s been taken straight off the Harry Potter film set, with the robes and scenery looking as if they’re designed by Godric Gryffindor himself. The Harry Potter series has inspired thousands of young adults in the early years of the 21st century, bringing reading, fantasy and cinema to a generation in a way which very few did before it, akin to a modern version of Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings saga. One offset of this is fan’s relationships they have with the characters that they’ve grown to love, and it became a popular muse for cosplayers who found themselves enchanted by the Potter universe, with certain characters, such as Voldemort and Hermione, making for fan-favorite cosplay inspirations. Posting to Reddit, meganflockhart (presumably a play on the name Lockhart, a divisive character from the series) showed off her Hermione cosplay, and you could easily mistake it for a shot straight from the set if you don’t take the time to look at it properly. The burgundy robes are fitted exactly as you see in the movies, almost perfectly color-matched with the sleeves and scarf looking as if they’ve been bestowed upon her by Emma Watson herself. Her hair, which looks to be slightly curled throughout, looks very similar to Hermione’s in the latter years of her Hogwarts tenure, from which this cosplay appears to based off. Overall, the look itself has been styled to near-perfection, and even Watson herself might have to look twice to confirm it’s not her. Holding a book in classic Hermione fashion, Flockhart is also posing alongside a stone wall that looks like it could be found on the grounds of Hogwarts Castle in one of its many courtyards, looking aged and weathered by the years of hexes that have bounced off it. The Reddit post, as expected, went huge, with almost 10,000 upvotes at the time of writing and multiple gold awards to congratulate Megan on her efforts. The comments themselves are almost exclusively fans in amazement at how perfectly she’s captured the Hermione character, with one even saying that they “thought someone was posting a picture of Emma Watson and calling it cosplay.” Another user joked about the resemblance, asking her “where she got that face,” because it fits the cosplay perfectly. This is definitely one of the most accurate cosplays we’ve ever seen and shows just how accurate some of the best are committed to being, with how easily some people believed that the photo was of Emma Watson as Hermione rather than simply a fan. You’ll be hard pushed to find a Hermione cosplay that looks better – not unless someone gets their hands on some Polyjuice Potion.

Valorant cosplayer strikes like lightning as electrifying Neon – Dexerto
Valorant cosplayer strikes like lightning as electrifying Neon Instagram: ariatamagotchi, Riot GamesNew Valorant Agent, Neon, has captured the imaginations of fans across Future Earth, with one cosplayer choosing to transform herself into the Filipino Duelist. Episode 4’s addition to the Valorant fray, Neon, has barely stepped foot in the game and players are already head over heels in love with her. Combining pure speed and electrical energy to bring down her enemies in style, the fiesty Duelist may be lethal on the battlefield, but she’s just a playful kid at heart. It’s this softer side that appears to make her oh so popular. Perfectly blending all of these attributes into one spectacular cosplay is ariatamagotchi whose recreation of the fast and furious Filipino will have you trying to catch a glimpse. Valorant Neon cosplay shocks the competition “I’ve played League for so many years, and now Valorant every day,” Aria told Dexerto. “It’s definitely my favourite game right now.” Being an official Content Creator, she “was lucky enough to see her [Neon] early,” and that inspired her to put her cosplay skills to the test. It’s more than just those cheeky quips and cobalt accessories that attracted her to Valorant’s first Filipino Agent: it was the connection she felt with her. “I think representation is so important; I am Asian, and seeing characters that are similar to me or even those that come from different backgrounds, is inspiring and exciting. Riot’s character design team is incredible, and Neon is no exception. She’s super fun to play too.” Describing the cosplay process as “lots of hot glue, sewing, and blue hair spray,” thankfully getting early access meant that she “was able to work pretty seamlessly.” It turns out the hardest part was washing out the blue hairspray, which is something we can all empathize with – we all had a spray hair dye phase, right? Despite looking like something from James Cameron’s Avatar for a few hours, it was all worth it given how perfect Aria’s Neon is. View this post on Instagram Her deep blue hair is trimmed with yellow, pulled back into two adorable space buns, and her outfit has been perfectly recreated – armor and all. She’s even drawn on those silvery arm and face tattoos, with Neon’s band-aid stretching across her nose. “For the gold pieces, I used cardboard and Worbla,” Aria explained. “My friend Sophie actually gave me her heat gun and leftover Worbla, as this was my first time using it. I then painted, and added details with Polska pens.” However, the Worbla foam was no match for her, as she has “a degree in 3D animation, so sculpting is something I enjoy.” And we may see her using a lot more of it in the future: “I have a lot more Valorant (and League) cosplays lined up!” Whether it’s a fan-favorite character from either Future Earth or Runeterra, we can’t wait to see who she transforms into next.

Valorant cosplayer re-invents herself as quirky genius Killjoy – Dexerto
Valorant cosplayer re-invents herself as quirky genius Killjoy Luminavira / Riot GamesKilljoy might be the inventive genius in the Valorant roster, but one of her biggest fans deserves the title too after she dished up a remarkably accurate cosplay. Valorant’s Agents are all unique. They have different strengths and weaknesses in certain situations. Killjoy, for example, is an absolute menace to face due to her ability to crowd control using gadgets. However, that’s not the only reason fans love her. She’s hip, quirky, and a genius both on and off the battlefield. Interestingly, she’s a popular choice among cosplayers too, probably because something is alluring about her vibrant style. Luminavira recently shared a picture of her incredible Killjoy cosplay on the Valorant subreddit, and it made quite an impression. It’s only been up for several hours and has already gained more than 500 upvotes and received plenty of positive feedback. “Everyone makes fun of German efficiency,” she said, reiterating one of Killjoy’s lines. “Just keep laughing as you use all my gear.” “I can finally show you some Killjoy pictures,” she added. “I am so proud of this Cosplay, and I love this girl so much. I know a lot of you guys don’t know Valorant, but I hope you like it anyway.” View this post on Instagram Luminavira made the costume herself, and she has done a fantastic job. The beanie, glasses, jacket, t-shirt, ripped jeans, gloves, and shoes all look like the real deal. It’s a perfect blend of green, yellow, grey, and purple. The accessories were a nice touch as well. She included the bracelet, hip bag, leg strap, and even a replica rifle. What’s more, the attention to detail is second to none, and people were quick to notice. “Wow, that’s amazing!” said the top comment in the Reddit thread. “You got even the tiniest details right. Even the pants are ripped in the same place. You look fantastic!” “Introducing the real-life killjoy. This is seriously amazing!” said another. Valorant players, especially those who love Killjoy, have been truly mesmerized by this piece. Luminavira deserves all the praise she’s getting.

Valorant cosplayer perfects Killjoy with inventive and colorful ensemble – Dexerto
Valorant cosplayer perfects Killjoy with inventive and colorful ensemble Riot Games / Instagram, @GloryLamothe[jwplayer 91I9RIGm]Killjoy, Valorant’s newest Agent, is a crafty inventor from Germany – but an Argentinian content creator, Glory Lamothe, has paid her homage with an incredibly accurate cosplay. Dressed in a bright yellow puffer jacket emblazoned with pink patches and complemented by a green beanie, ripped jeans, sneakers, and all of the accessories befitting a stylish 2020 hipster — Killjoy boasts one of Valorant’s most relatable character designs. Glasses, sneakers, and glitch pop energy combined, Lamothe has brought Riot Games’ latest creation to life. While Lamothe didn’t build Killjoy’s little Turret or Alarmbot, she did make the entire outfit herself. Rocking a sniper rifle and jet-black hair striking out from her skullie, Amothe is as close to a real-life version of the German inventor as one could get. With utility belts galore and what appears to be Killjoy’s Nanoswarm grenade in hand, Lamothe isn’t just comfortable playing the part; she seems fully equipped to wreak some havoc on any of Valorant’s four maps in Ascent, Bind, Haven, and Split. Nuevo #cosplay ! #Killjoy en colaboración con @VALORANTLATAM . Entirely made by myself 💅https://t.co/1Xcxeuy58B pic.twitter.com/QDmRLzFQTb — Glory Lamothe (@GloryLamothe) August 4, 2020 A cosplay made in collaboration with Valorant’s official Latin American social media team, Riot Games is likely very enthused with her effort – especially because she brought such vibrant, eclectic energy to the look with her choice of scenery. Killjoy’s debut was set for August 4 and was accompanied by the release of a new skinline pack, the Glitchpop bundle, which is all flash, color, and bright lights – kind of like the new Agent’s preferred aesthetic. As described by Valorant’s Senior Weapons Artist Chris Stone, the Glitchpop pack evokes the energy of a “dystopian future where death has no consequences and so people are buying guns.” Concept Artist Sean Bigham echoed that sentiment and emphasized that this pack’s “playful” nature is an intended contrast to the dystopian context of Valorant’s lore. https://twitter.com/PlayVALORANT/status/1290301399255875584 The neon, bright background of Lamothe’s scenery and the colorful, jolly stickers placed on her sniper rifle evoke that same Glitchpop energy, key to both the new skinline and new character. While the outfit is on-point, it’s that attention to Killjoy’s tastes that set this magnificent cosplay apart from the rest.

Valorant cosplayer turns heads as sickening real-life Viper – Dexerto
Valorant cosplayer turns heads as sickening real-life Viper Instagram: kelseyremige / Riot GamesA cosplayer on Twitter has amazed Valorant fans with her stunningly accurate real life version of Sniper, using some cool editing techniques to make a super atmospheric shot. Valorant is a tactical first-person shooter released officially in June 2020. The cast of characters within the game is varied, each having unique abilities and aesthetics with hints of neon, which has made for the perfect opportunity for cosplayers. Viper is a poison-themed character who can emit toxic clouds and poison screens as part of her unique abilities. To match her chemical warfare, she has a bright green aesthetic mixed in with the greys of her bodysuit, and her effortless coolness makes her appealing to cosplay. Kelsey Remige is one such cosplayer, who took on the challenge of recreating Viper in real life, and she more than knocked it out of the park. Her interpretation is almost an exact match for the original. Her hair is glossy and dark brown, straight with a slight curve at the ends to frame her face. That, along with her shiny black face mask, gives her a smouldering look, green eyes looking straight down the camera lens. don’t get in my way. The finishing touch was a cloud of green gas that circulated her body, pulling the image together and making the details of the outfit pop. Kelsey absolutely blew fans away with her stunning Viper, with the post on Twitter now accumulating over 6,000 likes and 400 retweets, a decidedly successful cosplay.

Valorant cosplayer literally brings Sage to life with incredible outfit – Dexerto
Valorant cosplayer literally brings Sage to life with incredible outfit Instagram/ehri/Riot GamesTwitch streamer ‘Ehri’ unveiled an extremely well-crafted cosplay of Valorant’s supportive Sentinel Agent Sage, and it’s safe to say that the internet is loving it. The Valorant beta has been a major success for Riot Games, with their tactical FPS pulling in big numbers both on Twitch and in active users. With an impressive lineup of Agents right off the bat, cosplayers like Ehri decided to get in on the action. In posts on Twitter and Instagram, the streamer showed off her take on Sage – and it looks as if the Agent was ripped right from the game and thrown into real life. One thing that separates Ehri from other cosplayers is the number of digital alterations she openly makes in her creations, and she does a pretty stellar job of it. Everything from Sage’s metal pauldrons to her sleek hairstyle is nicely recreated, including her bright teal earrings. Teal and purple are a central theme of Sage’s design in the gam,e and Ehri took it upon herself to add these bright colors to the Agent’s white uniform in all the right places. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_Pkx6xFHzA/ To finish off the ensemble, she donned Sage’s belt and even edited in an Orb, which is an essential part of the support’s kit in the game. While a lot of people were impressed with the cosplay, Ehri felt the need to chime in after some people on Twitter appeared to take issue with the fact that her photo was edited. “My ‘cosplay’ photos are edited, it’s pretty obvious and I’m always very open about it,” she clarified.” This is the style of how I make my content. I like the way it looks. some people view what I do as digital art, some see it as cosplaying.” the way you perceive it is entirely up to you, i literally do it for fun idc. i like to categorize what i do as a cosplay just because it just makes my life much simpler that way than having to explain every single time i post how it’s sort of cosplay/art merged into one 2/5 — ehri (@ehriyn) April 20, 2020 “The way you perceive it is entirely up to you,” she added. While some people may think she’s disrespecting actual cosplayers, the streamer addressed those concerns, too. “Cosplay can be really difficult. but just because what I do is created in a different way doesn’t mean it should be sh*t on.” If you enjoyed this take on Sage, Ehri isn’t done here, either: On her Instagram, she noted that she’s currently working on Viper, but she’s going to need a little bit more time to get it just right. and i understand why that is respected a lot more. cosplay can be really difficult. but just because what i do is created in a different way doesn’t mean it should be shit on ?XD as i’ve said on my insta beforehand, it’s only a minority of people who don’t understand my pov 4/5 — ehri (@ehriyn) April 20, 2020 We can’t wait to see what she has in store with more Valorant Agents, especially as more and more get added to the game over time.

Valorant cosplayer engineers the perfect outfit for quirky genius Killjoy – Dexerto
Valorant cosplayer engineers the perfect outfit for quirky genius Killjoy Riot Games / Instagram: calisto.cThey talk about German efficiency, but what about quality? Well, this Killjoy cosplay has both — getting the stylish looks of Valorant’s quirky engineer down pat in an amazing cosplay worthy of the Agent’s name. Killjoy didn’t just arrive into Valorant quietly — she jumped right into the roster, with bright popping colors and an unforgettable accent. She’s eccentric, and you can tell that just by looking at her. She’s been a fan favorite — especially in the cosplay department — since Day 1, equalled by only the likes of Viper. However, one cosplayer has emerged above the rest. Of course, who better to play the German engineer than a German cosplayer. ‘Calisto.c’ took on the Valorant Agent, and honestly, her outfit will be very hard to top. Breaking down Killjoy, there’s only so much you can do with her. You’ve got to have the bright yellow bomber jacket — patches and all — the turquoise beanie, and the skin-tight black pants. However, it’s all the trimmings that makes a cosplay truly standout. Caly managed to hit all of those markers and more. The glasses look like a direct rip from Killjoy’s in game, and the wig is perfectly manicured. She’s got all the belts and straps the German engineer has too. She even got decals for her laptop with the Kingdom logo to fit right in as the German engineer. It’s just like a slice of Future Earth, right here on regular Earth. View this post on Instagram They even did the photoshoot in Berlin, using the graffiti street art as part of the canvas. It really adds another level to the cosplay. Of course, Caly has got heads turning in the Valorant community. It’s one of the most popular in the game’s short history, and it’s easy to see why. It’s simple, yet hits all the marks perfectly, and that’s why fans are in love with it.

Valorant cosplayer electrocutes Radiants as fast and furious Neon – Dexerto
Valorant cosplayer electrocutes Radiants as fast and furious Neon Riot Games, Ahri ShimadaTo celebrate the release of Valorant’s latest Agent, Neon, one cosplayer has transformed herself into the angsty Filipina Duelist. Valorant Episode 4, Act 1, has started off 2022 with a bang. From an all-new battle pass to the insane Protocol skins (they actually talk to you), fans of Riot Games’ flagship FPS have been gifted swathes of fresh content coming into the new year. One of the more controversial additions is Filipina Duelist Neon. With EXCEL pro player Patryk ‘paTiTek’ Fabrowski calling the electrical Duelist “OP,” she’s shaken up the game’s meta to its core. Despite supposedly being unbalanced on the battlefield and, in turn, wreaking havoc, you won’t be able to resist this stunning cosplay by Spanish cosplayer, Ahri Shimada, whose recreation of Neon electrocutes the competition. Valorant Neon cosplay strikes like lightning Noting that she finds Valorant’s character designs “spectacular,” she told Dexerto “I love cosplay and I wanted to do one of Valorant’s Agents. My idea was to cosplay Killjoy or Viper, but then Neon suddenly came out.” For Ahri, it was love at first sight. “She is beautiful, so I decided to do a cosplay with clothes and similar things that I had at home, trying to resemble the character as much as possible.” While this was more of a trial run to test out her Valorant cosplay skills, she recalls that “the most difficult thing was to make the pigtails,” something she was determined to get right because she “adores blue-haired characters.” Despite this being the calm before the storm, Ahri’s Neon looks absolutely electrifying. From that cobalt blue hair to her metallic facial inlays – everything is masterful. Lightning swirls around her gloved hands, and her playful pout encapsulates Neon’s fiery personality. View this post on Instagram She’s even dropped a cheeky TikTok grooving away to Entertain Me, the track that featured in Neon’s release video. (Click here if TikTok doesn’t load) This, however, is the beginning of Ahri’s Valorant adventure, as she’s got a whole collection of characters up her sleeve that she hopes to transform into. “I will absolutely make more Valorant cosplays because the designs are incredible!” she told Dexerto, even hinting “I even thought about trying to make a female version of Yoru” – and that is something we absolutely need to see!

If there’s one Agent that has sparked controversy within Riot Games’ flagship FPS, Valorant, it’s Mexico’s finest Duelist, Reyna. With the likes of Twitch star and CSGO legend, Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek claiming that the vampiric Agent sits at the top of the meta, as well as a host of appearances at the Valorant Champions Tour, the life-sucking villainess has climbed back up the tier list to reclaim her throne after a series of brutal nerfs. Celebrating the return of the queen, Indonesian cosplayer alexander_bella (Bella) has created a stunning rendition Reyna that proves she is, indeed, Valorant’s Empress. Valorant Reyna cosplay drains the life from her enemies Writing that “at first I saw a friend of mine play this game and I really interested to try myself,” she tells Dexerto that once she took her first steps on Future Earth she “fell in love with all of the designs and concepts in and out of the game.” Confessing that she “can’t even play Reyna in game,” her love for the character began after “one of my friends who usually plays Valorant with me always picked her to be his main Agent. So, I often see her in game. I really love her voice lines, her bold attitude, the character design, the skill set, and how other Agents call her ‘queen.’” Speaking of queens, Bella’s perfect rendition of Reyna plants her firmly on the Valorant cosplay throne. Sporting a Bucky-inspired shotgun, deep violent energy swirls around her sharpened, talon-like fingertips. Every tattoo is perfectly recreated, stretching up her arms and beneath her now iconic black and violet jumpsuit. With every single golden accessory beautifully crafted, from that flowing ebony hair to every stud on her gothic-style leather outfit, Bella has nailed this look. View this post on Instagram Noting that she “usually commissions some of [her] friends who are majoring in costume and props making,” she explains that “I am the one who helped the in painting and providing the details for every part. I styled the wig and did the makeup by myself, and then we were ready to go!” View this post on Instagram It turns out, though, that Bella’s Valorant-inspired cosplays likely won’t end with Reyna (although she will always be the Empress, of course.) When Dexerto asked if we’d see more of Future Earth’s heroes brought to life, she replied with an enthusiastic “YESSSSSS! It’s kind of hard to choose actually. I really wanna try to cosplay as Jett… Maybe Sage? Or even Skye? I can’t even decide which one should I do next. I just love them all!” Whichever character she chooses, we’re sure she’ll absolutely one-shot the competition! On a personal note, though, we’d love to see Bella don Skye’s fiery red locks – but that’s maybe because there would likely be cute animals involved.

Valorant cosplayer controls the battlefield as intoxicating Viper – Dexerto
Valorant cosplayer controls the battlefield as intoxicating Viper Instagram: toxic.tenshi, Riot GamesValorant’s American chemist and Controller extraordinaire, Viper, has intoxicated many a player, and this cosplayer is hoping to slither her way into your heart with a stunning cosplay. Of all Valorant’s ever-growing roster of deadly Agents, American chemist and queen of all things toxic, Viper, remains one of the game’s most popular characters. As one of the title’s base characters, we’ve had a while to get to know the feisty Controller, as she’s appeared in countless cutscenes and promo material for Riot’s flagship FPS. Hoping to choke out the competition is British cosplayer toxic.tenshi (Ella), whose spectacular rendition of Valorant’s resident temptress will have you crying for air. Valorant Viper cosplay smokes out the competition Choosing to bring Viper to life as “I’m a Valorant streamer and honestly I just adore the game,” Ella told Dexerto “I have only been playing for five months but I completely fell in love with it after reading about the lore! It really makes it stand out compared to other FPS games.” While her “goal is to cosplay every female Agent I can,” she notes that Viper was high on the priority list as “I really love her abilities and character design, and I felt like I could really do her justice since her personality is so strong like my own!” Taming the Controller Agent wasn’t easy, though. “I am so used to cosplaying pretty cute anime girls or game characters, I really took a leap of faith and tried something new,” she states. “I wanted to push myself further and see how talented I could become, doing this cosplay has really inspired me to push myself in the future.” Despite her reservations, this cosplay is absolute perfection. Channeling Viper’s feisty personality, Ella can be seen replicating the Agent’s fluid hand movements, giving off an heir of pure superiority. From her ebony hair down to the tips of her green and black combat jumpsuit, Ella literally embodies America’s toxic chemist. View this post on Instagram Her Valorant cosplay journey will not be ending here, as she’s not yet fulfilled that goal of creating all of Future Earth’s female saviors. “As long as I love Valorant I will keep cosplaying from there,” she told Dexerto, hinting that Neon is “definitely one of my next cosplays.” With all eyes on Ella to see which Agent she transforms into next, we can’t wait to watch her blossom and evolve as a cosplayer. Until then, though, we’d better keep an eye on our angles – you never know where Viper will spring from.

This particular Jett cosplay has gained over 5000 likes since it was posted on September 2, people loving her attention to detail, and likeness to the popular character. Valorant cosplayer blows away the competition with fire Raze outfit Twitter: EloFtw/Riot GamesA cosplayer known as EloFtw has stunned fans of Riot Games’ new FPS Valorant with an incredible Raze outfit, perfectly capturing the casual look the agent dons. Valorant has captivated fans in both its beta and full game, introducing a whole new FPS world for players to delve into. One of the most crucial aspects of Valorant is its list of characters, a series of agents that boast unique skills and abilities. Raze is one of the game’s most popular agents, known for the aggressive and fast-paced play-style her character encourages. She is one agent whose abilities are primarily based on dealing damage: her Paint Shells and Showstopper. Away from her kit, she is known for her creative character design – the kind that was always going to inspire cosplays and community art. On June 10, one cosplayer – ‘EloFtw‘ – shared their recreation of the aggressive Valorant agent. The trademark vest and headphones are recreated to a tee, as is the agent’s nonchalant but threatening demeanour. “Paint check, charges check, brakes… nowhere in sight,” Ellie captioned her awesome cosplay. Valorant cosplayer bends fear to her will as Fade – Dexerto
Valorant cosplayer bends fear to her will as Fade Riot Games, Instagram: d.blarg354Valorant’s latest Initiator Agent, Fade, has enchanted players everywhere with her gothic style and fear-based abilities, but one cosplayer has brought the nightmare to life with this stunning recreation of Turkey’s finest. While Reyna once ruled as Future Earth’s gothic empress supreme, Turkish Initiator, Fade, has somewhat stolen the Mexican Duelist‘s spotlight. As players finally get to embody fear herself and cause havoc, one cosplayer has perfectly recreated the fan-favorite character with an outfit that will leave you breathless (because you’re so terrified, of course). Channeling her inner monster, Turkish artist and queen of the shadows yazmattaz (YazBae), is out for blood as Valorant’s newest Agent. Valorant cosplayer becomes fear itself as Fade Deciding to cosplay her Turkish counterpart because “I tend to cosplay from stuff I have a connection to,” YazBae revealed to Dexerto that she was “actually considering doing Reyna until Fade was released.” “She’s Turkish like me and I guess we kinda look a bit similar?” she states. “I had a few people messaging me about how we looked the same so it was a no-brainer really. I’ve never really had a Turkish character to cosplay before and her aesthetic is literally everything I love so it just seemed perfect! “I really enjoy playing her. Her kit suits my playstyle a lot, and I’ve had a lot of fun on her. I love how her voice lines integrate Turkish slang and stuff too; I think that’s a really nice touch. Also, I’m a sucker for a dark aesthetic and she just ticks all the boxes for me!” Given the caliber of this cosplay, we can see why it was, indeed, a “no brainer.” Moonlight silver hair cascades down her shoulders, contrasting perfectly against her smoky cat-like eyeliner and ebony lipstick. Fade’s signature facepaint stretches across her nose, and her leather gloves cling tight to talon-like hands. View this post on Instagram “I haven’t actually finished the official full version that I plan to debut later this year,” she told Dexerto. “The proper jacket is going to be made of faux leather, so that’s the part I’m dreading the most as it’s a pain to work with. But I always end up surprising myself with what I can achieve when I make cosplays!” And, as you can imagine, her Valorant cosplay journey isn’t about to end with Fade; after all, you can’t simply forget about Reyna. “Reyna is on the list, and probably a bunch of other Agents – definitely more Fade!” As YazBae continues to transform into Valorant edgiest characters, we can’t wait to see how her Fade cosplay evolves and moulds into something truly terrifying. Until then, though, we’ll be sleeping with one eye open – not that it’ll help, because Fade haunts our dreams anyway.

Valkyrae steals the show on Halloween with superb Valorant Viper cosplay – Dexerto
Valkyrae steals the show on Halloween with superb Valorant Viper cosplay Twitter: Valkyrae / Riot GamesValkyrae might be famous for her awesome streams, but she’s officially set the world on fire after slipping into a phenomenal cosplay of Viper from Valorant to celebrate Halloween. [jwplayer DrbUUz3n] People like to celebrate Halloween in their own way. Typically, you’ll see them take on a more traditional spooky outfit. Something like a ghoul, monster, skeleton, or even a character from their favorite horror movie. However, it’s becoming more common for people to dress up as characters from video games too, especially ones with dark and somber themes. Viper is one of the few characters from Valorant who falls into that category. Described as a chemist gone mad, she is a predator on the battlefield who uses poisonous chemicals to control and ultimately kill her prey. Rachell Hofstetter, better known as Valkyrae, is one of the most popular variety streamers on YouTube. She already has millions of followers and subscribers across all platforms. However, she’s about to attract a whole lot more after nailing one of the best Viper cosplays we have ever seen. “Viper from Valorant this year,” she wrote. “Happy Halloween!” Fans and followers have been pouring in ever since, professing their love and adoration for her outfit. Viper from Valorant this year😈 happy halloween! pic.twitter.com/3TNFiG1r1N— RAE (@Valkyrae) November 1, 2020 Valkyrae’s Twitter post has been skyrocketing in numbers. However, her initial post on Instagram is doing even better. Inevitably, it’s bound to set the world on fire since the cosplay is absolutely stunning from head to toe. The mask, the gloves, the utility belt, and the outfit all look like the real deal. The knife and even the poison being emitted from her palm are a nice touch as well. The best part, however, has to be the green eyes. It’s hard to tell whether they’re contact lenses or an after-effect. Either way, they round out the cosplay to be as complete and polished as it could be. It’s no surprise that the cosplay was made by Stella Chuu, who is a master of the craft with hundreds of thousands of followers across social media. Valkyrae made sure to give her a lot of credit. Still, a cosplay piece is as much about the wearer as it is the creator. Valkyrae wore it to perfection and made it even better than it already was.

Valkyrae leaves Marvel fans speechless with eye-popping Elektra cosplay Marvel / Twitter: ValkyraeRachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has been known to dish up some incredible cosplays from time to time, and she left fans speechless with a magnificent transformation into Marvel’s Elektra. Valkyrae might be one of the most popular streamers in the world, but that hasn’t stopped her from getting other things done, too. In April 2021, she became a co-owner of the prestigious 100 Thieves esports organization. She also tried to launch her own skincare line RFLCT — which led to plenty of criticism due to unverified “blue light” claims. didn’t work out. Rae isn’t all about business endeavors, though. Most people don’t realize she’s a talented cosplayer, too. Look no further than her stunning take on Viper from Valorant. Rae decided to celebrate Halloween a little later than usual by transforming herself into Marvel’s Elektra. Described as a “highly trained assassin,” Elektra uses a pair of sai to slash down anyone in her way. The cosplay included everything from the sai, to a picture-perfect recreation of her iconic ninja-like outfit, armguards, and even her trademark blue eyes. Valkyrae breaks the internet with another Valorant Viper cosplay – Dexerto
Valkyrae breaks the internet with another Valorant Viper cosplay ValkyraeStreaming star Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter shared her cosplay of Viper from Riot’s popular 5v5 shooter Valorant, and the internet loves it. In the last two years, 100 Thieves co-owner and content creator Valkyrae has exploded to become one of the most-watched female streamers in the industry. The streaming star who recently re-signed with YouTube Gaming in January has amassed over 3.6 million subscribers, and she’s showing no sign of slowing anytime soon. Following a Valentine’s Day photoshoot with Bella Poarch that broke the internet, Valk is going for round two with an unbelievable cosplay of Viper. In a tweet on February 17, Valkyrae blew fans away with her cosplay of Valorant’s toxic-centered agent. At the time of writing, the tweet has been up for just over two hours and has already amassed an impressive 50,000 likes. The outfit has caused quite the reaction from her community since she posted it, and they absolutely love it. Even Riot Games’ very own music studio replied to Valkyrae’s tweet, questioning when a music video is coming. Others from the streamer’s community couldn’t help but compliment how good it is. “You look amazing green queen,” said friend and fellow 100 Thieves creator Fusile. “Viperaee! I love these shots of you,” added Natsumiii. This isn’t the first time the popular streamer has cosplayed as Viper. In October 2020, Valkyrae dressed up as the Valorant agent for Halloween. Untitled Goose Game outfit may be the funniest cosplay yet – Dexerto
Untitled Goose Game outfit may be the funniest cosplay yet Cosplayer ‘simrell’ unveiled possibly the most amusing cosplay ever, as she became the goose from Untitled Goose Game. Untitled Goose Game became an instant hit when it was released in September, with streamers and players flocking to the hilarious game where the objective is to annoy a neighborhood as a goose. Most games see cosplayers take on the role of their iconic characters, however, that didn’t seem very likely for this game, whose only playable character is a goose. Although someone, somehow, made it work. A cosplayer named simrell shared her creation on Reddit as she became the goose, putting up a silly cosplay of the hilarious game. She donned a white dress to match the goose’s body and used orange knee socks for the legs. Of course, it wouldn’t be a goose outfit without a bill and some iconic goose webbed feet, so they had to be included as well. Simrell even got the details right for the Goose Game enthusiasts out there, adding the red ribbon that the goose steals in one of its missions. Clearly, a lot of effort went into this homage to a rather silly game. https://www.instagram.com/p/B5YFtm1D3yi/ Overall, the cosplay is fantastic and definitely one that everyone can enjoy. The Untitled Goose Game became viral as it was hilarious and incredibly unique – and the same can be said for the outfit. It’s also a nice change of pace from the usual cosplays, which tend to focus on more serious or complex characters. It will be interesting to see if anyone is inspired by this cosplay and decides to do a Goose Game outfit of their own, and if they do, will they try and add their own little touch to shake things up?

Unique Apex Legends Wraith cosplay looks ready to jump into the void – Dexerto
Unique Apex Legends Wraith cosplay looks ready to jump into the void Respawn EntertainmentWraith can travel through portals in Apex Legends, an ability no human can perform in real life, but one cosplayer has pulled off the look so well she looks like she could enter the Void at any second. Respawn Entertainment have developed a mega-successful battle royale title, but many might be surprised to see just how much the cosplay community has flourished since its February 2019 release. Many players have come forward with their own creative takes on the different legends involved in the Apex Games, and while Revenant might be the hottest addition to the game, another astonishingly accurate cosplay of one of the game’s originals has been revealed. It’s usually the case that cosplayers will promote their own work, posting to social media and encouraging people to share their designs online, but this time it was actually a friend of a cosplayer who put their look forward by posting it to the Apex Legends subreddit. The outfit, created by Instagram cosplayer Raeganocosplay, was met with a warm embrace from the community, with many dropping some comments about how accurately they managed to recreate the Wraith character. Those who follow her on social media will know her designs aren’t limited to Apex Legends, trying out cosplays for World of Warcraft as well in the past. As seen in the Reddit post below, Raegano mixed up the look of the legend’s outfit design by personalising it with her own pink and black color scheme, something that was picked up by a few fans. Other fantastic features of the image include the bright white eyes, hairstyle and attention to detail on the front of the suit – incorporating wires into the design. The post has since received hundreds of upvotes. “That’s actually super cool!” one Redditor said, while another added to the thread: “Thats a sick color theme.” The photographer who captured the design, That_Cheech, admitted in the comments that they had never really been an Apex Legends fan – and hardly played it – but after seeing this cosplay and how cool the character looks in-game, they may be tempted to jump into World’s Edge sometime soon. This, of course, isn’t the first Wraith cosplay that’s been shared in the community, but it might be one of the best we’ve seen yet!

Top 5 Dr Disrespect ‘Doctober’ Halloween cosplays Twitter/DrDisrespectDr Disrespect’s Halloween ‘Doctober’ contest has returned and with it, fans of the Two-Time have unveiled their best cosplays of the legendary streamer. Given Doc’s larger-than-life personality and outfit with the red vest, black mullet, mustache, combat boots and sunglasses, he’s cosplay material. The contest is simple, post a picture of yourself dressed as Doc and tweet it with the hashtag #Doctober for a chance to win prizes from the Two-Time himself. While Dr Disrespect hasn’t picked his winners yet, here are five Doctober cosplays we think are deserving of tasting victory. SeanBargelski https://twitter.com/SeanBargelski/status/1320042012750581760 There’s a lot in this photo that makes it stand out from the crowd. Primarily, it’s the theme of the 1993/1994 BlockBuster video game championship that Doc has built his “Two Time” moniker around. For one, you have the podium with the Doc cosplayer standing above two children as a man dressed as a BlockBuster employee hands out a trophy. The BlockBuster video cases in the back keep the immersion intact while a Sega Genesis shows what appears to be NBA Jam. This was just well-done in general. JosRiv286 Ohh baby baby baby baby baby, trust me, I’m going to get the the job done… and it’s that’s simple. @drdisrespect #Doctober pic.twitter.com/xYVY2LDyNy — JRBigBang (@JosRiv286) October 29, 2020 This one amplifies the Halloween aspect of the cosplay with some horror elements going on. The cosplay itself is well done with the sweat pants featuring the logo, vest, mullet and sunglasses all intact. Meanwhile, the background features a spooky full moon and peashooters dropping in. On the ground, the zombified hand reaching out of the grave secures its place on our list primarily for the Halloween theme. LegendOfElena My husband and I decided to remake Dr. Disrespect and Mrs. Assassins photo 🥰 here is out #Doctober submission 👏🏽❤️ yayayayayayaya @drdisrespect #drdisrespect @KetoCorey pic.twitter.com/6OPDxEmKCy — REDL1NE (@xredl1ne) October 25, 2020 Working together with your spouse on a cosplay deserves some credit, and that’s exactly what this couple did to recreate Mrs Assassin’s Instagram photo. This unique cosplay has the wife standing on her husband with a knife by his throat – perfectly emulating the original. Her husband’s pose as Doc is also extremely well-done, so this one is definitely a serious contender. Cruzader1993 The Mustache is Authentic.#Doctober pic.twitter.com/mQHlKZRXv4 — Cruzader (@Cruzader1993) October 18, 2020 This is most likely the most standard Doc cosplay on this list, but it looks so authentic we couldn’t not mention it. Nothing fancy, just an extremely well-crafted Doc outfit equipped with an authentic mustache. It just works, and it does so perfectly. ObiWanJerrNobi @drdisrespect #Doctober #yayayayayayayaya it’s my sons birthday today! He is 5 and he is hoping you see this! pic.twitter.com/I9AQCZmydn — Jerr (@NotJerrDad) October 12, 2020 Kids dressed up as Doc is nothing new, but there’s something about a five-year-old with a mullet drinking G-Fuel that is downright hilarious. As far as the outfit goes, once again, this kid’s parents nail it – all the boxes are checked. It also really helps that the boy’s attitude while posing for the video seems to match Doc’s energy, which is a major plus. There is only one day left until Halloween, so it’s not to late for you to enter the contest itself and show the YouTube streamer what you’ve got.

Top 10 best My Hero Academia cosplays – Dexerto
Top 10 best My Hero Academia cosplays FunimationMy Hero Academia is one of the most popular anime series right now, and while we wait for the new chapter to be released on October 12, it’s a good time to check out some of the best cosplays inspired by the hit Japanese show. My Hero Academia is set in high school for heroes with special powers (or quirks, as they are known). It follows Izuku Midoriya, who dreams of becoming a hero, despite having no quirks himself. It is absolutely brilliant, and as you can see from the incredibly accurate outfits below, is ripe for cosplaying. 10. Mina ‘Pinky’ Ashido Pinky, also known as the Ridley Hero: Alien Queen, is a 16-year-old student from Class 1-A. Her ‘Acid’ Quirk allows her to control the substance and use it to attack, but is also why the hero takes on a pink, alien-like appearance. Cosplayer CutiePieSensei captured Pinky’s spirit perfectly with her replica costume of the schoolgirl, getting her pink skin color down to a T. The talented artist also styled the hair and the horns with incredible accuracy. 9. Izuku ‘Deku’ Midoriya This is my new favorite cosplay! Hero suit sewn by @stephstonecos wig by @epiccosplay #dekucosplay #bnha #bokunoheroacademia pic.twitter.com/iR2MLuFWn2 — Lorentz Iwood :soon:AX (@Iwoodcosplay) June 1, 2019 Midoriya is My Hero Academia’s main protagonist, and was born Quirkless until number one hero All Might gave him his power. The U.A. High School student’s superhero name is ‘Deku’, and he uses the Quirk ‘One For All’ to deal insane damage to opponents. Read More: Cosplayer gives All Might a female twist – Lorentz Iwood from Iwood Cosplay has done a great job of recreating Deku’s iconic supersuit and messy green hair, finishing off the outfit in style with the hero’s metal mouthpiece around his neck. This is a perfect Midoriya cosplay. right down to the pose. 8. All Might (true form) All Might was widely regarded as the series’ number one hero for the longest time, bearing the title of the world’s Symbol of Peace. He is the Foundational Hero Studies teacher at the hero school, and passed his Quirk onto Izuku Midoriya. When not in his hero form, All Might looks rugged and thin, having received permanent damage after being involved in a fight. Kuroshiba Cosplay decided to go with this form for their outfit, rather than the hero’s costumed one, and it’s an incredibly accurate rendition. The baggy clothing really accentuates just how frail the hero is, and brings his form to life. 7. Katsuki Bakugo Bakugo is one of the anime’s more aggressive heroes, and is known for his powerful ‘Explosion’ Quirk. He grew up alongside Midoriya, who he often bullied for being Quirkless, and now begrudgingly attends U.A. High with him. Talented artist Simon ‘simons.aliens’ captured Bakugo’s combative nature with this epic cosplay, even adding smoky eye makeup to emphasize the dark look. The hero’s blonde hair pulls together the look perfectly, as he truly looks like he’s just walked straight out of the TV show. 6. Toru ‘Invisible Girl’ Hagakure My Toru shoot is here and I’m so nervous to show you guys!!! GAHH!! But if you like it I got some fanservicey ones too! #bnha #cosplay pic.twitter.com/ub2zXC0XPv — Aicosu :soon: Marriage (@Aicosplays) October 10, 2017 Toru, also known as the Stealth Hero: Invisible Girl, is a completely invisible hero who is only shown as a pair of clothes walking around with no body. She takes her clothing off completely in battle, wreaking havoc on unsuspecting enemies. Read More: Insane Monster Hunter World cosplay – Aicosu ‘Aicosplays’ managed to pull off one of the most interesting renditions of the unseeable girl, appearing as just a floating school uniform. While it’s unclear just how they managed to achieve such a crazy cosplay (they previously stated on Twitter that it wasn’t with the use of a green screen) Aicosu completely nailed it. 5. Fumikage ‘Tsukuyomi’ Tokoyami Tsukuyomi’s Quirk is named ‘Dark Shadow’, and it gives his head the appearance of a large black bird while still keeping his human body. His power allows the hero to send out a sentient shadow beast to attack enemies, but also to defend himself against attacks. Featherfall Masks recreated Toko’s bird head in a realistic style, and it gives off a creepy, yet somehow absolutely amazing vibe. The feathers bring a new meaning to ‘accuracy’ and really make it feel as though he’s soared right out of the show and into real life. 4. Tsuyu ‘Froppy’ Asui Tsuyu, known as Froppy the Rainy Season hero, has the slight appearance of a frog due to her ‘Frog’ Quirk that gives her a large tongue and the ability to hop around on all-fours. She is also a 1-A student at U.A., and dons a pair of large goggles when wearing her superhero costume. Silver Lining Cosplay is a real-life relationship duo, with the female cosplaying Froppy frequently. Her outfit is so accurate, with the goggles and the large, realistic frog feet being highlights. She gets the details on the suit down perfectly, nailing the intricate details on the legs. 3. Shota ‘Eraser Head’ Aizawa Eraser Head is a teacher at the hero school, and is also a Pro hero who specialises in Quirk ‘Erasure’ – a power that can temporarily annul the ability of anyone he looks at. He is also the homeroom teacher of class 1-A, so he works closely with heroes like Midoriya, Bakugo, and Froppy. Taiwanese cosplayer Shu Masumi brought Eraser’s stern personality to life with a crazy rendition of the Pro hero. Not only did they include his classic goggles that he uses alongside his ability, but they also brought his Capturing Weapon to life, which allows the teacher to immobilize targets and bind foes. 2. All Might (hero form) While All Might’s true form is creepy-looking due to his accident, the hero’s costumed form makes him look majestic and mighty – a fitting appearance for someone who was once the best superhero in the world. The other half of cosplay duo Silver Linings Cosplay pulled off the best All Might recreation that we’ve possibly ever seen with his insanely detailed costume. The whole thing has been cel-shaded to give it that anime feel, right down to the contoured makeup on his face, and it truly feels as though the lines between TV show and real life have been blurred. 1. Ochaco ‘Uravity’ Uraraka Uraraka, also known as Uravity, is a master of Zero Gravity. She uses her Quirk to manipulate gravity with her hands, making objects weightless. The female hero comes from a poor household, and wanted to become a Pro to help out her parents in order to give them a comfortable life. Talented cosplayer GhostieeMuffinnCosplay takes the top spot on our list. While the costume is spot-on in its accuracy, the best part of it is the bubble wand that is used to create the helmet with such creativity. The makeup and the hair also ties the whole thing together beautifully. In fact, we loved this design so much, we wrote an entire article on it.

Nintendo Switch players spent months dying to get their mitts on the latest games, and cosplayers have been going haywire creating and dressing up as their favorite characters from the Nintendo Switch releases – here are our top 10 favorites. 10. Scorbunny https://www.instagram.com/p/BvHaABtjJfY/ Scorbunny is one of Gen VIII’s three starter monsters, and is a Fire-type Pokemon. It has a rabbit-like form, and appears to have a Band-Aid stuck across its nose. Sevan from Royadevon Cosplay loved Scarbunny so much that they created an entire outfit based on the creature, and it’s super cute. The Canadian-based cosplayer’s take is simple but effective, and sees them using a white wig with foam and cardboard ears to pull off the look. They’ve even stuck a patch on their nose for extra accuracy. You can find Sevan on Instagram at @royadevon_cosplay. 9. Gym Leader Bea https://www.instagram.com/p/B1tZUq-jUJf/ Bea is a Gym Leader exclusive to Pokemon Sword, and she specializes in the Fighting type. She was shown off in the first trailer for Dynamax battles, and fans fell in love with her at first sight. Cosplayer KrispyPeach decided to take on the lovable boss, and shared her take on her Instagram, where she wowed fans of the series. The Texas-based designer completely nailed Bea’s outfit down to every little detail, and even included the various decals on her clothing, along with her signature headband. You can follow KrispyPeach on Instagram at @haruka_hourou. 8. Galarian Ponyta https://www.instagram.com/p/B3XPrzbA8ph/ Ponyta’s Galarian form has proven to be one of the most popular new additions, with the fanbase going absolutely crazy due to its charming My Little Pony-esque features. Female cosplayer Karli ‘Karlibra’ loved the cute pony so much that she brought it to life with an incredible look that truly does look like the Pokemon in human form. Not only does the designer channel Ponyta’s gorgeous flowing hair, she even recreated its ears and horn for picture-perfect accuracy, and complemented the look with some elegant makeup. You can follow Karli on Instagram at @karlibra. 7. Sonia https://www.instagram.com/p/B4xpofZHG-p/ Sonia is the granddaughter and assistant of Sword and Shield’s professor Professor Magnolia. She spends most of her time researching Pokemon, and also grew up alongside the region’s League Champion Leon. California-based blogger Carisse Iris showed off her recreation of the whimsical female, and captured her spirit perfectly with her design. Not only did the cosplayer nail Sonia’s massive hair to a tee, she also posed with a journal to really pull off that researcher look. You can find Carisse on Instagram at @carisseiris. 6. Female Trainer https://www.instagram.com/p/BuoQhrllCw-/ Pokemon Sword and Shield’s playable female Trainer protagonist is canonically known by the name Gloria, and melted the hearts of fans straight away with her cutesy look. Artist Stella Chen recreated the popular female with her own spin on the character, and even included a little plush of Scorbunny and a Pokéball to tie the look together. Read More: Duo’s amazing Jessie & James cosplay – The cosplayer’s clothes are an almost exact replica of the starting outfit in the games, and the wig is an incredibly accurate addition, too. You can follow Stella on Instagram at @stella_chen_yui. 5. Wooloo https://www.instagram.com/p/BzHntRXHy1X/ Wooloo is Sword and Shield’s new Normal-type sheep monster, and proved insanely popular with fans when it was first shown off during a Nintendo Direct back in June 2019. So popular, in fact, that cosplayer Phoebe from Chiefy Creates threw her own spin on the animal, using a wig to recreate its iconic braids, and to house its horns. Her makeup is on point, too, and really ties the whole look together, making Phoebe look like the human version of the lovable sheep. You can follow her on Instagram at @chiefy_creates. 4. Nessa https://www.instagram.com/p/By6FxTKHgOh/ Nessa is Sword and Shield’s Water-type Gym Leader. Unlike Bea, she’s not exclusive to one version, so all players will encounter her at one point or another. Amazingly talented cosplayer Kay from ‘pixelghosts’ dressed up as the fierce fighter, and looked truly badass with her gorgeous costume design. The designer even added the Leader’s signature blue streaks to her wig to make it look as real as possible, and matched it up with some shocking blue eyeshadow makeup to make the whole look pop. You can find her on Instagram at @pixelghosts. 3. Sobble https://www.instagram.com/p/BvZW3_kj3kj/ Sobble is another one of Sword and Shield’s three starter Pokemon. The Water-type is small in size, and features a yellow fin on the top of its head. Ivy from Tokidoki Cosplay dressed up as the pint-sized creature, and somehow made the monster look even cuter than it already is. She used a wire headband to achieve the fin shape, and also wrapped cloth around her hands to imitate the amphibian’s sticky feet. What really ties everything together, though, is the beautiful makeup that mimics its markings. You can follow Ivy on Instagram at @tokidoki_cosplay. 2. Zamazenta this dog in pokemon shield cosplay is the highlight of #PAXWest imo pic.twitter.com/dO6DCLjmK9 — Andrew Goldfarb (@garfep) September 1, 2019 Zamazenta is one of Gen VIII’s Legendary dog monsters, and is the mascot for Shield. It houses a giant shield on its head and chest, which it uses to reflect attacks. In what is probably the most adorable cosplay we’ve ever seen, shiba inu dog Isabelle dressed up as the majestic pup for PAX West 2019, where she delighted passersby with her cuteness. While dogs in outfits are super cute anyway, the fact that Isabelle cosplayed an actual Pokemon was enough for the mutt to move to second place on our list. You can keep up with her adventures on Instagram at @isashibe. 1. Grookey https://www.instagram.com/p/B2AQELcDFZD/ Grookey is another one of Sword and Shield’s three starter monsters available at the beginning of the games. It’s a Grass-type, has markings like a yellow mask around its eyes, and keeps a stick in its hair. The top spot on our list goes to Chrissy from Chrissy Plays Dress Up as her take on the adorable creature is just simply amazing, and truly looks like the Pokemon in human form. Our favorite part of her outfit is the wig, as it’s creatively shaped like the critter’s ears, and even houses the stick. The talented cosplayer even sports glasses to mimic the creature’s facial markings – a 10/10 from us. You can follow Chrissy over on Instagram at @chrissyplaysdressup.

Top 10 best Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplays The 15th anniversary for Avatar: The Last Airbender is quickly approaching, and to celebrate, we’ve scoured the four nations for the top 10 cosplays of the much loved animation. Avatar originally aired in 2005 on Nickelodeon, and quickly became a cultural phenomenon as millions connected with the series’ story about a kid monk named Aang who embarks on an epic journey to bring balance to humanity. The story takes place in a world where people can bend the elements of earth, air, water, and fire, however when the Fire Nation decides to use their power to take over, our protagonist the Avatar (who can control all four) is tasked with stopping them. To celebrate its upcoming 15th anniversary, we take a look at all the skilled fans who have brought element bending to life with our top 10 Last Airbender cosplays list. 10. Avatar Aang https://www.instagram.com/p/B43-YtvnUjC/ Cosplayer ‘rinya.cos‘ brought the series lovable monk protagonist to life with this insanely timed shot of her jumping in the air which makes it look like she’s bending the air beneath her. Aang comes from the Air Nomads who live in temples in the sky, although before the series starts, the entirety of his people are wiped out, making him the last airbender in existence. His character sports a blue arrow tattoo that runs from his forehead down to the back of his hands – a tradition for the monks in the series – which she perfectly captures. 9. Appa https://www.instagram.com/p/Bn468h-lNm1/ In one of the most creative Avatar cosplays we’ve seen, ‘allipugs‘ gives us her unique spin on Avatar Aang’s pet and traveling mount Appa, the adorable air Bison. The beloved creature is native to the air nomads, and is able to fly using its massive tail to propel him up. It becomes a form of transportation for the monks who live in the sky. Using clever design, the cosplayer recreated his tail using a cape, and his iconic horns with crafts, while sporting white hair to simulate his fur, and even used makeup for his nose for a modern twist. 8. Prince Zuko https://www.instagram.com/p/B5YTti3I-ZA/ Talented costume designer ‘nishi.artist‘ is a prolific Avatar cosplayer that we have written about several times before, such as her stunning take on Legend of Korra’s protagonist. However, her Zuko cosplay is one of the best we’ve seen, as she captures the troubled, brooding character in his third season outfit when he’s undercover in Fire Nation territory. She always takes her designs to the next level with incredible photography in which she poses for in exotic locations, making her pieces feel like they jumped straight out of the animation itself. 7. Sokka https://www.instagram.com/p/B266GBIDQgL/ Sokka and his sister Katara both discover Aang frozen in ice in the first episode of the show, and accompany the Avatar on his journey to master the four elements, and bring balance to the world. Cosplayer ‘dgrerro‘ wowed fans with his insanely accurate portrayal of the show’s much loved comic relief character, as he perfectly recreated every detail of his Southern Water Tribe outfit, even down to his necklace. The cosplay captures Sokka with his iconic water tribe haircut, and becomes the character by posting with his trusty boomerang, which is a running gag in the show. 6. Suki https://www.instagram.com/p/B3GwWaSgO2G/ Suki is first introduced in season one, and teaches Sokka a lesson about underestimating her as a fighter, as the fierce character belongs to the Kyoshi warriors – an all-female group that protects their island. Cosplayer ‘reyla_cosplay‘ shared her mindblowing take on the popular character, and impressed Avatar fans with her perfect depiction of her group’s warrior makeup and armor. From her golden headband, to her black armor which she creatively made using clothing material, her cosplay will make you think the character has jumped right out of the screen. 5. Princess Yuei https://www.instagram.com/p/B4qrqn9DcrW/ By the end of the first season, Aang and his group make their way to the Northern Water Tribe so he can learn how to master the element of water, however Sokka has his breath taken away upon seeing Princess Yue for the first time. We were amazed by cosplayer ‘bijoux_bunny‘s take on the character, as she took her costume to the next level by posing on a rock that has the ocean waves behind her, which seems like a scene straight from the animation. She not only accurately creates the princess’s Water Tribe outfit that protects her from the cold, but nails her royal hair accessories as well as her intricately designed hairstyle from the show. 4. Fire Nation soldier https://www.instagram.com/p/B2mQEpFjHPi/ Throughout the series, the main threat the heroes face is the Fire Nation, who were responsible for killing the Air Nomads, and invade the other nations as the story progresses. While not a specific character, cosplayer ‘cpt_roodbaard‘ impressed fans after sharing his breathtaking costume of a Fire Nation soldier on his Instagram. Using a smoke machine, the artist simulates a burning flame in his hand. When pairing his amazing recreation of the soldier’s armor with some impressive photography, this is easily one of the best cosplays we’ve seen. 3. Ty Lee https://www.instagram.com/p/Bu_6sQVH1dO/ Popular cosplayer ‘Raine Emery‘ is prolific in her own right, amassing over 34k followers on her Instagram as her professional costumes take it to the next level. However, her take on Princess Azula’s “friend” and sidekick Ty Lee is absolutely stunning, as she took the photo above shallow water to capture her reflection on the bottom. Not only is her costume perfect down to every detail, she’s a dead ringer for the deadly acrobatic antagonist, truly bringing her to life. 2. Katara https://www.instagram.com/p/B5elO4PjGzD/ One of the core aspects of the animation is bending the elements, which is admittedly hard to recreate in cosplays without getting creative. However, ‘jaberford‘ took it to a new level with their absolutely breathtaking recreation of Katara water bending the element all around her. Her costume a perfect imitation of the character’s Water Tribe outfit, including her blue choker – which fans later learn was a betrothal necklace given to her grandma. 1. Toph https://www.instagram.com/p/B3nbipUjYC0/ We love this outfit so much that we already wrote about it once before. It is the top pick on the list for our favorite The Last Airbender cosplay. The talented ‘Aara Lee‘ truly becomes the character with her mind bending costume that is a faithful recreation down to every little detail. Her love for the character truly shows, as she also mastered Toph’s fighting stance, and has a video on her Instagram showing her pull them off in motion, making this the best Avatar cosplay we’ve seen so far.

Tomb Raider cosplayer mocks PS One graphics as polygon Lara Croft – Dexerto
Tomb Raider cosplayer mocks PS One graphics as polygon Lara Croft Square Enix/enjinightTomb Raider’s Lara Croft is easily one of the most iconic female characters in gaming despite having a somewhat amusing look when she debuted on the original PlayStation. Despite the polygons being a bit of a mockery, one cosplayer has used that as inspiration. While Tomb Raider is well-regarded as pioneering new ground in the action genre with Lara’s Indiana Jones-like flare, her debut in the gaming world was held back a bit by technology. This is especially true when comparing Lara’s appearance in newer games in the franchise to her PS One look. It’s night and day, especially when factoring in her parts that look a bit comical by today’s standards. Nonetheless, the look has remained relevant all these years later, leading to cosplayer Enji Night to recreate the 90s style graphics with her new Lara Croft cosplay. View this post on Instagram “I heard you miss the polygon boobie Lara from your life!” she posted on Instagram alongside a series of photos with her dressed as the action hero. The humorous photos feature the cosplayer with weirdly-shaped polygon breasts, just like Croft had back in the day. In addition to the polygon look, she also managed to remain true to the character with everything else lining up perfectly. Lara’s hair, backpack, brown shorts and blue shirt are all reconstructed brilliantly. View this post on Instagram Even the little details such as the protagonist’s gloves, gun and belt are all included to make no mistake that she’s dressed as Lara. As it turns out, Tomb Raider has a special place in the cosplayer’s heart. In another Instagram post, she remarked how it was the first game she ever played. “Lara was definitely my childhood hero, this is why I’m always super thrilled to cosplay as her,” she explained happily. Aside from Lara, the popular cosplayer has also taken on the role of Android 18 from Dragon Ball Z, Final Fantasy 7’s Aerith, 2B from Nier, and more. Clearly, she has an amazing talent and we can’t wait to see what else she has in store for us in 2021.

Tokyo Ghoul cosplayer sets Touka Kirishima ablaze with devilish outfit – Dexerto
Tokyo Ghoul cosplayer sets Touka Kirishima ablaze with devilish outfit Pierrot / midorily InstagramA cosplayer marvelously unleashed Touka Kirishima’s kagune with a design that captured the Tokyo Ghoul star in a dark-but-gentle light, reminiscent of the popular manga and anime series. The franchise has been a beloved staple of manga for its unique blend of horror and drama, fueled by the complex characters like Touka. Though a gentle character, the series has shown that she can be exquisitely dangerous within the larger society of ghouls. Though her kagune took time to develop, the eventual :re manager has always been one of the more devilish ghouls in combat, and great cosplays of her stride that fine line of showing her caring side while teasing the sheer power that she packs. Fitting with that theme is cosplayer ‘midorily’ who donned Touka’s all-leather look during her time in the Gas Mask collective. This outfit for the popular character is both frightening and well executed with impeccable character details that are true to the show – down to the gorey aftermath of a kill. The arc-appropriate reimagining shows her in the black leather outfit with the iconic mask that the gang of ghouls are known for wearing. But the clear standout of the entire cosplay is obviously the immaculate design of Touka’s half-realized ukaku kagune. The misshaped wings not only pays its respects to the source material, but shows midorily’s prowess as a cosplay creator. Made entirely of the worbla, a material popular with cosplayers for being malleable, sturdy, and light-weight, the designer created one wing to be the undeveloped side of Touka’s kagune while the other stands straight up. Though the costume looks like a simple take to a character, the devil is in the details with the striking wings that glow from yellow to a dark purple. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bxxph7Xn5J_/ Tokyo Ghoul has been a favorite series among cosplayers to recreate, seeing as one design can have many distinct layers that can show different sides of a character. Midorily’s cosplay perfectly brought to life one of the anime’s most beloved characters in a brilliant way that shows how impeccable design can really make an outfit catch the eye.

TikToker claps back at cheeky Overwatch troll with insane Roadhog cosplay – Dexerto
TikToker claps back at cheeky Overwatch troll with insane Roadhog cosplay TikTok: rauxer / BlizzardOverwatch’s Roadhog is a ruthless killer known for bringing cruelty and wanton destruction to lobbies worldwide, but people are falling in love with a cosplayer’s take on the hero on TikTok. As many will know, Roadhog is among the best heroes on the entire Overwatch roster. While the Scrap Gun-wielding character may look like a fierce foe on paper, there’s something about a cosplay doing the rounds on social media that shows you a different side to him. Overwatch Roadhog cosplay goes viral on TikTok Described as a “one-man apocalypse,” an outfit assembled by TikToker rauxer has been racking up the likes since it was first posted on March 24. The cosplay was in reply to a comment that joked he looked like the Overwatch hero, but more fool them. Nearly 100,000 people have responded to the design, at the time of writing, showing the confident recreation of the Tank hero was an instant hit. The design takes the cake, and the belly dance was the cherry on top. Credit where credit is due, rauxer is looking ready to roll out a signature Chain Hook at any moment after whipping his shirt off to complete the cosplay. At a glance, the only thing missing from the recreation would be his Wild tattoo – but that would take some time to paint onto the skin. For more hardcore cosplayers, though, a real tattoo might be the answer, but that takes commitment, to say the least. Nevertheless, this certainly goes down as one of the more impressive Overwatch cosplays we’ve reported on during 2022. With such a dedicated community attached to Activision Blizzard’s series, not to mention Overwatch 2 coming up, we can’t imagine it will be the last we see before the year is out. And to think, this one only exists because of a cheeky troll joking in the comments… That’s how to silence the trolls.

TikTok makeup artist looks terrifying as Rick & Morty’s Mr. Meeseeks – Dexerto
TikTok makeup artist looks terrifying as Rick & Morty’s Mr. Meeseeks Instagram: Abby RobertsPopular TikToker Abby Roberts has transformed herself into Mr. Meeseeks from Netflix’s Rick & Morty using only make-up, and the results are insane. [jwplayer MDxzN19r] Abby Roberts (Abby artistry) is a British TikToker and makeup artist with more than 12.4 million followers on the app. Abby is well known for her incredible makeup skills, cosplay, and ridiculous transformations into different characters. Abby is also dating fellow TikToker Noen Eubanks. Abby consistently challenges the boundaries of how far makeup can go in altering someone’s appearance, and if you thought she couldn’t turn into a cartoon, you thought wrong. In her latest project, and potentially in the spirit of spooky season, Abby covered her entire face in blue and drew on a giant smile with terrifying teeth. She completed the look with a bright orange wig and a blue zip-up jacket. In the Rick & Morty universe, Mr. Meeseeks is a creature that appears throughout the seasons. They are created to serve a singular purpose and will go to any length to fulfill that. When they do, they expire and vanish into the air. While they don’t sound so scary, fans of the show will know just how creepy and disturbing the creatures can be. She captioned her video, “This is probably my scariest look this Halloween I’m sorry” and added “cause y’all needed some more nightmare fuel,” eventually admitting in a third and final TikTok that the look is “a regret.” Halloween fanatics can expect exciting things from Abby in the countdown to October 31. Already this month Abby has shown off her amazing Harley Quinn cosplay, experimented with eye blood makeup. Abby also debuted a Halloween special trailer on YouTube where she is filmed sitting on a huge red throne dressed as the devil in front of satin red curtains. Fans can see more Halloween content on Abby’s YouTube channel every Friday at 11 am PST in October.

TikTok bodypainter goes viral with perfect take on Harley Quinn – Dexerto
TikTok bodypainter goes viral with perfect take on Harley Quinn DC Films / TikTok: Marina EloiseOne TikTok cosplayer has knocked it out of the park and stunned fans of the DC universe by recreating Harley Quinn’s outfit exclusively through the means of body paint, and went viral as a result. In recent years, particularly following the release of 2016 movie Suicide Squad, the popularity of zany character Harley Quinn as a Halloween costume has become somewhat of a running joke. The appeal of the iconic look was huge, and certainly for good reason. Harley, accomplice to and lover of the Joker, sports a quirky, bright aesthetic that has the perfect mix of fun and edginess for a Halloween outfit. With Halloween season beginning again, many have taken once more to this classic costume to put their own spin on it, but Marina Eloise has taken it to a whole new incredible level. Marina is a cosplayer with 100,000 followers on TikTok and specializes particularly in body paint cosplay, where talented artists paint clothes directly onto their skin for a fascinating illusion. Safe to say, her replication of Harley’s outfit is stunning. The iconic “Daddy’s Lil Monster” baseball tee has been meticulously painted on, even with highlight, crease, and rip details that at first have you believing it’s real fabric. To give the jacket a three dimensional illusion and to give her a comic book like figure, Marina painted her sides dark black to allow the jacket to pop, as well as giving her a caricature waist that emulates that comic feel perfectly. It wouldn’t be a Harley Quinn cosplay without the classic blue and pink dip dyed pigtails, which she’s backcombed to give it some more volume. The makeup is the icing on the cake, pastel eyeshadow perfectly replicating her hair, with thick black lines that outline her facial features to even further enhance the cartoon feel, looking as if she’d just stepped out of the DC universe. The video has skyrocketed in popularity since it was posted September 19 with an astonishing 850,000 likes and 6 million views, thanks to Marina’s fantastic work.

Tifa Lockhart cosplay stuns fans just in time for Final Fantasy 7 Remake – Dexerto
Tifa Lockhart cosplay stuns fans just in time for Final Fantasy 7 Remake roga_na_noge, Instagram / Square EnixThe Final Fantasy 7 Remake is nearly here, causing gamers all over the world to burst with excitement for the title’s reimagining — and even cosplayers are getting in on the hype. Standing as one of the most popular games of all time, Square Enix’s timeless classic boasts a wide array of iconic characters, including protagonist Cloud Strife, Aerith, and antagonist Sephiroth, among others. However, few are as well-loved as Tifa Lockhart, who, thanks to her popularity, has made appearances in numerous Final Fantasy games and media throughout the series’ lifetime. She seems to be a hit with the cosplay community, as well, with a number of top-tier costumers creating their own take on Final Fantasy’s femme fatale — and with the game’s Remake already being released in certain regions, hype around the character is more explosive than ever. Thus, cosplayer Angie Strelnikova brought out her version of Tifa in celebration of the Remake, debuting the outfit in late 2019 and continuing to promote her creation as the title draws ever nearer. True to Tifa’s classic look, Angie boasts her white tanktop, skirt, black thigh-high socks and battle-ready gloves, just in case some Shinra thugs need a butt-kicking. At the price of possible neck pain, Angie even stayed true to Tifa’s iconic long, black hair, a feature that was notably shortened in the Advent Children movie due to how long and thick it was to render. The cosplayer also shared an impressive before-and-after transformation photo, showing just how different she looks in her Tifa getup as opposed to her normal look — and it’s safe to say that she nailed the AVALANCHE member’s style. Although the Final Fantasy 7 Remake has already been launched in some regions, the game officially releases for the United States on April 10, leaving American players chomping at the bit for a chance at experiencing one of gaming’s most historic titles for a second time. Considering how impressive its first-looks have already been, fans can rest assured that it’ll be a feast for the eyes — something cosplayers are already getting excited about.

The Witcher cosplayer stuns fans with incredible Geralt & Roach combo – Dexerto
The Witcher cosplayer stuns fans with incredible Geralt & Roach combo Instagram: Silvercos/CD Projekt RedCosplayer Silvercos has revealed his pretty stunning take on The Witcher’s Geralt by incorporating one of the series’ other loved characters – Roach. The Witcher series started all the way back in 1993 thanks to Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, though it’s popularity didn’t explode until game developers CD Projekt Red got their hands on it. Following the story of Sapkowski’s Witcher Geralt of Rivia, there have been three critically acclaimed video games – The Witcher 1, 2, and 3 – as well as a Netflix series that has introduced the franchise to a whole new audience. With the Witcher’s popularity threw the roof, it has become prime inspiration for cosplayers who want to show off their fandom as well. Though we’ve seen a few attempts at other characters – including Tayvix as Ciri and Irine Meier as Triss Merigold – there hasn’t been a Geralt cosplay that has blown anyone away. Yet, Silvercos appears to have stepped up to the plate with a stunning take on the popular character. Dressed in Geralt’s trademark chain and leather armor, the cosplayer has the hairstyle, color, and facial hair down to a tee – as well as The Witcher’s distinctive facial scarring. https://www.instagram.com/p/B94QmmejZPW/ What sets the cosplayer apart from many others, however, is the use of a horse which even looks like Geralt’s trusty steed Roach. Yet, it doesn’t appear as if the Horse has gotten himself into as much trouble as he does in-game. However, the cosplayer’s take on the character doesn’t just end with him standing next to the horse. He even hopped a ride as well while carrying a few of his weapons. https://www.instagram.com/p/B8VzmufjBA_/ With the Polish cosplayer looking like he’s taken Geralt and jumped right out of the video game and into the real world, he has received plenty of plaudits for his look. Who will be next to try and one-up him, though, remains to be seen. However, it will have to be a pretty stellar job to surpass Silvercos.

The Witcher cosplayer stops time as spell-binding princess Ciri – Dexerto
The Witcher cosplayer stops time as spell-binding princess Ciri CD Projekt Red / Instagram: NagraThe Witcher cosplayer Narga has stopped time with her latest Ciri costume, unveiling her spell-binding take on the fan-favorite princess. It may just be the most accurate cosplay of the sassy Witcher we’ve seen yet! Ciri has always been a fan-favorite from the Witcher franchise, but her popularity has only skyrocketed since she played a huge role in CD Projekt’s The Witcher 3, and appeared as a sassy youngster in the Netflix adaptation’s first season. The magical princess is a favorite for Witcher cosplayers around the world, in part due to her iconic battle-hardened look. She dons traveling gear like her mentor the White Wolf, and gives off a special “badass” aura to boot. The Witcher cosplayer unveils spellbinding Ciri Among those Witcher fans who love cosplaying Ciri was cosplay model ‘Nagra,’ who unveiled her latest take on the magical heroine on Instagram earlier this month. We’ll admit, the first time we saw Nagra’s cosplay on Instagram, we were actually fooled into thinking it was a screenshot from The Witcher 3. Her Ciri cosplay is just that good! The main focus of the cosplay is Ciri’s makeup. She’s referred to as “the ugly one” in many of the series’ novels, due to her huge red scar across the left side of her face. Nagra captured it perfectly, and it stands out in every photo. https://www.instagram.com/p/CElw8-JBrEH Ciri’s iconic scar isn’t the only part of the cosplay that stood out either though. Nagra pulled on the character’s usual white and brown tunic, and added her knee-high tan boots to finish off the full character outfit. The pièce de résistance, however, was the well-worn look that Nagra had in her Ciri cosplay; it really did look like the cosplayer had been fighting in the forests of Brokilon. Nagra, who put together both the Ciri costume and stunning makeup, joked the best way to get the “flawless” weathered look she had in her photos— taken by Kmitenkova — is to “go to the forest… lie down, and roll with dirt and wet grass.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CEbzCZCBQTt Nagra’s Ciri cosplay draws a crowd The Witcher cosplayer also shared a lovely little anecdote alongside her Ciri costume reveal: she took many of the photos in Vyborg, a town in Russia. While she was there, many Witcher fans approached her to take photos. “Many people recognized the character, told me kind words, and asked me to take pictures with them,” she said. “Usually all this thing happens only at conventions… maybe it’s because The Witcher 3 is extremely popular and loved in Russia.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CEhAJKhh2K7 Nagra is far from the only cosplayer to have unveiled a Witcher costume recently too; German cosplayer Saftigesgnu appeared as enchantress Yennefer late last month. Silvercos also whipped up a Geralt cosplay, complete with Roach too. Ciri seems to be a big favorite for the Witcher game developers too. Last time Nagra put together a cosplay of the princess, CD Projekt Red actually commented on the costume; they congratulated her, and dubbed it “awesome.”

The Witcher cosplayer shows off magical take on Yennefer Instagram: saftigesgnu / CD ProjektA talented Witcher cosplayer has shown off her incredible take on Yennefer from the series’ third game, bringing the ‘Horsewoman of War’ to life in stunning detail. The Witcher has been a hot topic online for years, but became a pop-culture hit back in 2019 with the release of the first season of the TV adaption on Netflix, with hundreds of thousands of fans flooding back to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as their imaginations ran wild after viewing Henry Cavill’s performance as Geralt of Rivia. While the series may follow the story of Geralt on his quest to find and protect his adopted daughter Ciri, the love of his life Yennefer plays a major role of her own, raising the girl as one of her own and protecting her when the Wild Hunt comes searching for Ciri in the hopes of stealing her away from her family to use her incredible magic for their evil plans. Instantly recognizable thanks to her raven hair and purple eyes, Yennefer is one the most cosplayed characters from the franchise, with fans following in love with her thanks to her fiery and determined personality that can intimidate all who cross the patch of the powerful sorceress, but also shows a tender and loving side in her raising of Ciri. The Witcher experienced a sweeping success as a game, particularly its most recent third installment, thanks to its rich medieval-inspired world-building, fantasy elements, and complex character relationships. The TV adaptation that was released on Netflix in 2019 scooped up a new wave of fans who, despite not having played the game previously, fell in love with the world it portrayed, leading the show to go on and trump huge names like The Mandalorian in terms of demand. Yennefer is one of the story’s main female protagonists. A cold character with a dark past, she captivated fans with her enchanting aesthetic, as well as her complexity of character. Thanks to the intricacy of the outfits featured in both the game and the show, it remains a rather difficult feat to pull off an accurate cosplay, but DariaSol managed to recreate Yennefer down to the fine details, in a beautifully atmospheric shot. Her hair is impossibly voluminous, matching Yennefer’s thick black curls that cascade down her shoulders and back. Also, an exact replica is her thick black choker-necklace with a circular medallion that sits between her collarbones. DariaSol has opted for a beautiful off the shoulder look, a bardot black blouse with the arms wrapped in an intricate ribbon, overlaid with a black corset. This is paired with leather gloves that she is putting on in the photograph. She sports what appear to be thigh-high boots and socks, with a small gap between that and some shorts. This has then been covered with a skirt that has a wide slit in the side, giving the outfit that extra dimension. Dario Sol looks like she could drop right into The Witcher universe, her Yennefer recreation looking just as enchanting as her in-game and in-series counterparts.

The Witcher cosplayer lights up with vibrant Triss Merigold outfit – Dexerto
The Witcher cosplayer lights up with vibrant Triss Merigold outfit Instagram: ohmysophii / CD PROJEKTWhile fans anxiously await a new season of the hit Netflix adaptation, The Witcher community continues to impress with more and more cosplays, including this fiery Triss Merigold design. Things have been quiet on the video game side of things since The Witcher’s last mainline release in 2015. However, fans of the RPG series have had plenty to keep themselves occupied with ever since. From the full release of Gwent to the Henry Cavill-led Netflix adaptation, the franchise may be bigger now than it ever was. As expected, cosplayers haven’t slowed down with their renditions of popular characters either. From Yennefer to Cyberpunk-infused Ciri, there’s never any shortage of remarkable costumes. The latest comes from popular cosplayer ‘ohmysophii’ with an extremely authentic take on everyone’s favorite sorceress. Thanks to the help of some fancy editing, this creation comes to life and stands out from the pack with realistic abilities on display. Her take on the character has seen multiple iterations over the years though a few key details have remained consistent throughout. In the most recent version, Triss is posing for pictures while reading through a book that she often keeps handy. As a powerful healer, her skills come in handy more often than not on the battlefield. The cosplayer’s hair is identical to the vibrant red of her video game counterpart. Moreover, every detail from the sleeves to the collars are recreated faithfully to properly capture her aura. Subtle color changes are noticeable throughout the unique versions of her Triss cosplay. One features bright red sleeves and a matching belt, while the other trades those out for an aqua style instead. However, perhaps the biggest difference between the two, is the character’s unmistakable amulet. Triss can be seen with her amulet around her neck at almost all times throughout the video games. Though one older instance of ohmysophii’s cosplay ditches this piece of jewelry for a more fiery impact. Added effects light up the photoshoot as Triss prepares a spell to fend off any monsters nearby. View this post on Instagram ? Happy #Witcher Day ? Have you binged the show yet? The Witcher cosplayer is ready to attack as stunning Ciri – Dexerto
The Witcher cosplayer is ready to attack as stunning Ciri Instagram: saiwestwood / CD Projekt RedThe character of Ciri from The Witcher franchise has been expertly brought to life by a talented cosplayer on Instagram, showing a beautifully realistic take on the show with some stunning scenery. The popular story of the Witcher has been shared with the world through a variety of different forms. Beginning as a novel series by Andrzej Sapkowski, the story went on to be adapted into an immensely popular game, and a Netflix series. Since CD Projeckt’s game The Witcher 3, Ciri’s popularity has certainly experienced a boost. Additionally her role in the Netflix show introduced her sassy character to a much wider audience, and has got people more obsessed with her than ever. The franchise’s fantasy drama genre has certainly tied in well with the costume and scenery. The costumes are often beautifully detailed yet with simple materials, and set against the background of a mix of beautiful and dark scenery, the world acts as a great source of inspiration for cosplayers. We’ve seen some fantastic cosplays from Sai Westwood before, both with a bright Demon Slayer cosplay and as part of a group with a K/DA recreation. This time around she’s here to flex her skills with her take on Ciri, and she’s definitely done an amazing job. View this post on Instagram Her fitted brown leather pants are studded across the knee and up the thighs, matching with her thick leather gloves and their gold buckles. Around her waist is a bold silver belt with stunning blue stones, layered with a further black belt to which a small leather pouch is attached. The combination of different layers just like the original, with every detail perfected to make a super accurate cosplay. View this post on Instagram Her white blonde hair is pulled into a low ponytail, with strands falling around her face to frame it. Her eye makeup is ever so slightly smudged, staring forward as she raises her sword above her shoulder, prepared to strike. The costume, paired with the stunning scenery, makes the images look as though they could have been pulled from the show itself, with every detail on point.

The Witcher cosplayer impresses fans as Geralt with female twist – Dexerto
The Witcher cosplayer impresses fans as Geralt with female twist @erinbjwhite / CD Projekt RedGeralt is the paragon of masculinity in The Witcher, but that didn’t stop a talented cosplayer named Erin J. B. White from bringing him to life with a female twist, and her fans can’t get enough of it. Geralt of Rivia is the heart and soul of The Witcher in many ways, which isn’t surprising since he’s the main protagonist of the series. Fans are drawn to his blunt, hard-nosed, and cynical personality, probably because it’s not typical of a hero. Instead, it’s more in line with an anti-hero persona and has a certain charm that others can relate to. Either way, there’s something about him that resonates with fans, and that carries over in the cosplay community too. Geralt cosplays are everywhere on the internet, and they’re all great in different ways. However, it’s hard to find one that looks as good as Erin J. B. White’s. The best part is, she managed to pull it off with a female twist. “Evil is evil. Lesser, greater, middling – makes no difference,” she said, referring to a quote. “The degree is arbitrary. The definition’s blurred. If I’m to choose between one evil and another… I’d rather not choose at all.” View this post on Instagram It looks fantastic from head to toe and could easily pass as the real deal, but it’s also incredibly innovative. Erin created the armor by combining EVA car mats and craft foam with leather strapping. She also 3D printed the medallion and sword hilt and attached the latter to a sword she bought from Amazon. The rest of the piece, which included a breastplate, boots, contact lenses, leggings, undershirt, and a wig, were sourced from various sellers. However, she managed to integrate them perfectly into her piece and create a well-rounded final product. Here’s a second look, which includes shots of her standing in natural scenery. View this post on Instagram All in all, it’s a brilliant cosplay, and her fans were quick to acknowledge it. They’ve described it as everything from “badass” to “so good,” and one of them even said they were “deeply impressed.” There’s no doubt that fans of the series will love it too. It’s already gained some traction on social media, but it has the potential to go viral.

The Witcher cosplayer debuts enchanting take on Yennefer – Dexerto
The Witcher cosplayer debuts enchanting take on Yennefer Cosplayer and model Kate Key showed off an incredible version of Yennefer from The Witcher 3, bringing the ‘Horsewoman of War’ to life in stunning detail. The Witcher is a hot topic on the internet, as fans of the games tune in to Netflix in their droves to watch the first series of the TV series based on the legendary franchise, with hundreds of thousands flooding back to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as their imaginations run wild after viewing the series. While the series may be focused on Geralt of Rivia and his quest to find and protect his adopted daughter Ciri, the love of his life Yennefer plays a major role in the girl’s upbringing, raising her as one of her own and protecting her when the Wild Hunt come searching for Ciri, in hopes of using her vast magical powers for nefarious reasons. Posted to the /r/Cosplay subreddit, Kate Key showed off her incredible rendition of Yennefer, nailing one of the character’s most iconic looks from the game. Around her shoulderless top are the same dangling feathers that Yennefer wears, although Key has gone for a purple hue to the feathers to match the character’s distinctive eyes rather than the green which is often seen. Her long, black hair falls down almost identically to the character, and the leather corset with a black belt that she wears is equally as detailed. The cosplayer even went as far as to perfect the metallic kneepads that the Horsewoman of War can be seen sporting in the game, with the Vengerberg crest engraved on them, and the lace stockings that she wears underneath when donning this attire in-game. The Spain-native posted the outfit in celebration of the launch of The Witcher series, which debuted on Friday, December 20 to mixed reviews, with some calling the show cheesy, while others fell in love with the magical realm in which the series unfolds. Of course, The Witcher has been a part of popular culture for years, with the first of Andrezj Sapkowski’s books releasing back in 1992, with comic books, tabletop games, and of course the video game franchise all spawning from the incredible tales woven by the author all those years ago. With so much lore and history, it’s no surprise that Key was inspired to create this incredible costume, and it may encourage others to do just the same as they pay homage to Yennefer, the Horsewoman of War.

The Witcher cosplayer celebrates Season 2 release as magnificent Ciri – Dexerto
The Witcher cosplayer celebrates Season 2 release as magnificent Ciri Instagram: @michaela.lee1 / CD Projekt RedThe Witcher Season 2 kicked off on Netflix on December 17 after a two-year break, and to celebrate the occasion, cosplayer Michaela Lee spectacularly transformed herself into Ciri. The Witcher TV series debuted on Netflix back in December 2019. It was a commercial and critical success right out of the gate. As a result, Netflix renewed it for a second season while the first was still underway. Its development was delayed time and time again throughout 2020. However, it finally released on December 17 — just in time for the holiday season. To add to the excitement, cosplayers have been dishing up incredible transformations into their favorite characters. But while they’ve all been fantastic, Michaela Lee’s fantastic take on Ciri is one of the best ones yet. Michaela’s Ciri cosplay is perfect. It’s got everything from the ashen hair and white shirt to the brown pants, boots, belt, straps, and gloves. The scar on her cheek is a nice touch, too. She also didn’t forget about the sword. What’s more, the scenery in the background of the photos makes the cosplay look even better. The first picture is a shot of her leaning against a tree. The second depicts her taking a stroll through the woods — much like a scene in the show. View this post on Instagram A good chunk of Michaela’s followers commented on her Ciri cosplay. They described it as amazing, beautiful, powerful, and more. It’s gotten them hyped for The Witcher Season 2. Michaela has dished up many incredible cosplays throughout the years. In October 2021, her fiery take on Demon Slayer’s Tanjiro Kamado caught our eye. We can’t wait to see what else she has in store for the future.

The Witcher cosplayer bends space and time as stunning Ciri – Dexerto
The Witcher cosplayer bends space and time as stunning Ciri CD Projekt Red / YarpennaCiri is one of the most powerful and alluring characters in The Witcher universe, but a dedicated fan named Yarpenna decided to bring her into our world with a breathtaking cosplay. The Witcher is filled with all kinds of interesting characters, from Geralt to Yennefer, Triss, and Dandelion. However, there’s no denying that Ciri, the deuteragonist of the series, is one of the best. Ciri has many admirable traits. She is tough, bold, has a strong moral compass, and can literally travel through space and time. She also shares a special father-daughter bond with Geralt, which is one of the most memorable aspects of the story. The Witcher takes place in a fantasy world, but that doesn’t mean people can’t use a little magic of their own and bring their favorite characters to life. A cosplayer named Yarpenna did exactly that, and her followers loved it. “Hello in the new year,” she said. “I’ve closed 2020 with a witcher photo, then I also open 2021 with the Witcher! It’s winter, so it’s a good time to post-winter photos, there you go. Winter Ciri!” View this post on Instagram The cosplay looks fantastic from head to toe. The ashen hair color is spot on, as well as the shirt, pants, boots, belt, straps, and gloves. The attention to detail in the belt is particularly impressive. Of course, let’s not forget about the sword, dagger, and knapsack. They’re a nice touch and help round off the piece quite nicely. If fans saw her walking around in the wild, they could be forgiven for thinking she opened a portal into our dimension and is the real deal. Yarpenna also shared a photo of the outfit several months earlier. It shows her standing in a chilling winterscape standing in front of an icy tree surrounded by blankets of snow. It looks like a scene from the game. “It’s getting colder outside,” she said. “Looks like a perfect opportunity to post a snowy Ciri picture!” She’s not wrong, and her fans adored it. Between the two photos, fans left comments saying it made them want to jump back into The Witcher 3. View this post on Instagram Yarpenna already has an impressive gallery of cosplays. It includes everything from Captain Marvel to Lady Sylvanas from World of Warcraft, and they’re all impressive. However, this Ciri cosplay is one of her best. It’s always nice to see The Witcher fans bring their favorite characters to life, and she’s done an incredible job. We can’t wait to see what she’s got in store next!

The Witcher 3 cosplayer warps to Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City as Ciri – Dexerto
The Witcher 3 cosplayer warps to Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City as Ciri CS PROJEKT RED / Instagram: @ghostieemuffinncosplay, @tdbphotography_[jwplayer MDxzN19r]A skilled cosplayer has taken Ciri from CD PROJEKT RED’s The Witcher 3 and transported her into the world of Cyberpunk 2077, giving her a futuristic twist that merges the two games perfectly. In The Witcher series, Ciri is Geralt’s adopted daughter. In the third game, she goes missing, causing the protagonist to search across the world for her, all while avoiding an evil army called the Wild Hunt. The ashen-haired maiden is extremely powerful, making her a prime target for the group. After the success of TW3, developer CD PROJEKT RED created a new title called Cyberpunk 2077. The open-world game focuses on the digital age, and is polar opposite to the medieval themes of their last project. Interestingly, Witcher 3 has somewhat of an easter egg for their upcoming title, in which Ciri describes warping to a future time with “houses of glass” and “flying ships.” Amazing Witcher 3 Cyberpunk Ciri cosplay Cosplayer ‘Ghostiee Muffinn‘ decided to merge the two franchises together, taking Ciri from the fantasy RPG and giving her a modern Cyberpunk twist. Teaming up with photographer ‘@tdbphotography_‘, the character is truly brought to life. Posing in front of a graffiti wall for that modern effect, the skilled artist shows off her costume: a cropped leather jacket with a large blue collar, leather pants with lace-up sides, legplate armor on her shins, and a pistol sat on each hip printed by ‘jairusofall‘. The outfit has bursts of turquoise running throughout, making the cosplay pop for a more futuristic feel. She even wears a silver Witcher medallion – the one for Wolf School in this case. In the series, the monster slayers wear a different one depending on what institution they train at. It is very sensitive to magic, and hums whenever a source of power is near. https://www.instagram.com/p/CBtmmpWjDpd/ In another shot, Ghostiee Muffinn gives a more detailed look at the lower half of her outfit – specifically the silver and turquoise legplates that sit on her shins. Talking with Dexerto, the cosplayer dove deeper into the process of creating the armor. “They begin as foam templates that become armor after paint details and highlights,” she said. https://www.instagram.com/p/CB_ov-5jdET/ The artist also shared how she made the leather jacket and the large blue collar that sits behind her head. “I used a blue folder for the details,” she continued, before explaining just how much effort went into the heroine’s Cyberpunk twist. “I’ve made the collar glow in the dark via fairy lights and a battery pack! I feel the lights bring together the cyberpunk feel, a city of lights,” she revealed. Not only does Ghostiee Muffinn double as an amazing Ciri, she’s also made waves with an incredible cosplay of Ochako Uraraka from hit anime My Hero Academia. Read More: Cyberpunk 2077 delayed until November – As for whether the character will actually make an appearance in Cyberpunk 2077, nobody knows. Fans will just have to wait until November 19 to find out.

The Witcher 3 cosplayer shares magical take on Ciri – Dexerto
The Witcher 3 cosplayer shares magical take on Ciri Streamer and Cosplayer Tayvix has left Witcher fans enchanted after releasing her incredible Ciri costume to tie-in with the release of the show on Netflix. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt first released back in 2015, sending fans of action role-playing games into raptures as they played the games based on the fantasy novels of the same name. The game follows Geralt of Rivia, a monster-hunter who is searching for his adopted daughter who went disappeared to escape from the Wild Hunt, a dark sinister force determined to use her vast magical powers for their own nefarious plans. That girl is Ciri, a ‘Source’ born with vast powers, who trained as a Witcher under Geralt, unaware that her real dad is the Emperor, who fathered her under a secret identity after promising his first-born as part of a deal he made to have a curse removed. With Ciri playing a vital part in the story of The Witcher, streamer Tayvix has debuted her incredible rendition of the emperor’s daughter, complete with the silver hair, leather corset and white shirt that she wears in Wild Hunt. Even the fine details have been observed, with a leather cuff on her right arm, the metallic belt with gemstones embedded in each buckle, and the satchel she carries over her shoulder. Tayvix’s eyes even have the same vibrant colors as Ciri’s does in-game, a mesmerizing shade of blue and green that looks like it’s straight out of The Witcher 3, and brought to life in the real world. The cosplayer debuted her amazing look at Holiday Matsuri 2019 in Miami, Florida, a special holiday-themed event that took place on December 13-15. “Ciri was so much fun to cosplay,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “A character I’ve been wanting to do since Witcher 3 released. She definitely makes me feel like a bad*ss.” View this post on Instagram “People, like to invent monsters and monstrosities. Tayvix’s cosplay definitely wouldn’t look out of place in the show though, pulling off an impeccable version of the ‘Lady of Space and Time.’

The Witcher 3 cosplay brings Shani to life as your next Gwent opponent – Dexerto
The Witcher 3 cosplay brings Shani to life as your next Gwent opponent Shani could be the most challenging Gwent opponent you’ll stumble upon in your real-world travels thanks to this tremendous Witcher 3 cosplay. A prominent character throughout Geralt’s many adventures in the video game adaptations, Shani is a benevolent figure that left an indelible mark on the heart of the central protagonist. With countless newcomers diving into the series years after the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, many are only just discovering the impact of the character for the very first time. While the medical expert is yet to make an appearance in one of the many timelines presented throughout the 2019 Netflix series, that hasn’t stopped avid cosplayers from bringing the charming character to life in their own spectacular ways. Popular cosplayer Lada Lyumos has gained a reputation for her impressive gaming-themed costume designs and a recent creation has brought The Witcher’s Shani to life in a vivid locale. Donning her trusty green and red attire with the perfect wig to accompany the fiery character, it’s evident no stone was left unturned when bringing the costume together. From the immaculately recreated outfit to the medical symbolism the character wears around her neck at all times, even the most minuscule details have been realized in this cosplay. While the outfit itself provides a tremendously accurate portrayal of the character, the setting of the photoshoot is what truly sells the authenticity. Sitting at a table littered with Gwent cards, the cosplay pits Shani in the midst of a tense game. With six Scoia’tael-based cards in hand already, and plenty more filling her side of the board, the character is drawing yet another card in attempt to overpower her opponent. Having even gone to the trouble of laying out a Monster-themed deck on the opposite side of the table, every minor detail has been taken into account in order to set the scene and truly bring this game of Gwent to life. Evidently a huge fan of The Witcher franchise, the cosplayer has put together a number of equally impressive pieces to accompany her Shani attire. From the whimsical sorceress Keira Metz to the ever-charming Triss Merigold, Lada Lyumos has impressively recreated enough characters to host a tavern-full of Gwent competition.

The Last of Us 2 cosplay brings grizzled version of Joel to life – Dexerto
The Last of Us 2 cosplay brings grizzled version of Joel to life Naughty DogGetting ahead of the curve before The Last of Us Part II releases in May and we continue the story of Joel and Ellie, this crafty cosplayer has realized an older version of the hesitant father figure with extraordinary attention to detail. Joel endured a great deal throughout Naughty Dog’s 2013 hit The Last of Us, and now, he wears those years of hardship more so than ever before, appearing as a grizzled survivor of the infected world in the upcoming 2020 sequel. Before avid PlayStation fans can get their hands on the highly anticipated release and play through a narrative in control of Ellie this time around, a popular London-based cosplayer has brought to life an aged version of the original protagonist, impressing even the likes of Joel’s actor himself, Troy Baker. Shared by the developers themselves, Fabionei ‘oneicosplay’ Bakhuizen crafted a full costume to accurately capture not only the gritty tone of the dilapidated world that Joel inhabits, but also the toughened exterior of the figure. Supplies are often hard to come by, yet this cosplay comes fit with a trusty shotgun, Joel’s flashlight, and even a bow to keep quiet while killing enemies. Attached to his hip is a mask that allows Joel to traverse through infected terrain and avoid the parasitic spores that created such a dystopia. Clearly, this creator is ready for all possible situations, even a possible clicker sighting at a UK convention. Joel from The Last of Us by OneiCosplay. Want a chance to be featured? Share your creations with us here: https://t.co/rkNPoi2lDv pic.twitter.com/UJv4I05SUH — Naughty Dog (@Naughty_Dog) January 13, 2020 With blood and dirt scattered across the remarkable costume, a great amount of detail has been added on top of the clothing and weaponry in order to truly make the creation stand out. Moreover, oneicosplay appears to be the perfect age to lend a sense of realism to the design. While certain aspects have been exacerbated through strong lighting and particular angles, there’s no denying that his grey hairs only serve to elevate the authenticity of the cosplay that much more. Standing alone as a sole survivor throughout each picture, it goes without saying that the creation would be even more impressive next to an authentic Ellie cosplay. The Last of Us Part II is set to release around the world on May 29 and although gameplay demonstrations have been few and far between, Naughty Dog has assured that the sequel is one of their most ambitious projects to date. There’s no telling just how big of a role Joel will be playing this time around with Ellie stepping up as the playable protagonist. Considering how the narrative came to a close in 2013 however, he’s sure to play quite a significant role once again.

Terrifying My Hero Academia Tomura cosplay will give you nightmares – Dexerto
Terrifying My Hero Academia Tomura cosplay will give you nightmares A talented cosplayer has brought My Hero Academia’s Tomura to life with his terrifying take on the leader of the League of Villains. My Hero Academia first released in 2014 as a manga in Japan, before exploding in popularity worldwide with its anime adaptation in 2016, and is currently on its fourth season. The animation takes place in a world where people evolved to have super-powers called quirks, and superheroes are integrated into society where they protect the innocent against those that use their powers for evil. The series protagonist Izuku Midoriya has an arch nemesis named Tomura who is the terrifying antagonist in the show, and one incredibly skilled cosplayer’s take on the villain is so good it will make your skin crawl. Cosplayer’s terrifying recreation of Tomura The troubled villain was first introduced half way into Season 1, and has a terrifying presence with his ragged hair, and obscured face which is covered by an oddly-placed hand. Cosplayer ‘Tawko Royama‘ shared his take on the character on his social media, and blew away fans who were impressed by the intricate detail of the hands that grab onto various parts of his body. In the story, these hands have important significance to his origin, but they give the villain a disturbing appearance as it almost looks like the character is being smothered which the cosplayer perfectly nails. https://www.instagram.com/p/B5IxthFBa8A/ In the earlier seasons, Tomura wears a hoodie over his messy blue hair, and keeps his disfigured face obscured even when he’s not wearing his hands, making this cosplay one of the most faithful recreations of the character we’ve ever seen. The artist also posted more shots of his costume on his Instagram, which truly shows off the incredible work that went into making it, by accurately recreating each vein and line on all the hands that grasp at him. He also embodies the antagonist with his pose of holding his wrist, as the character’s quirk turns anything he touches into dust, giving him immense powers that can destroy anything he comes into contact with. https://www.instagram.com/p/B4-Xgt-hhGs/ My Hero Academia’s fourth season is currently being aired simulcast for the first time, meaning English watchers can get the dub at the same time as the Japanese sub release without having to wait months for it. The current season can be watched on either Funimation or Crunchyroll, and airs every week on Saturday.

Talented My Hero Academia cosplayer’s Uravity outfit is out of this world – Dexerto
Talented My Hero Academia cosplayer’s Uravity outfit is out of this world A My Hero Academia fan posted her incredible cosplay that faithfully recreates the gravity hero, and is so accurate that she looks mindblowingly similar to the anime character. My Hero Academia is one of the most popular anime series currently running, and recently returned after a year hiatus for its fourth season on October 12. The show envisions a world where humans evolve to have super powers called quirks, and one professional cosplayer shocked fans after sharing her take on the lovable hero Uravity, and looks exactly like her. Perfect Uravity cosplay In the anime show, students attend the prestigious U.A. High School where they train in hopes to one day become a professional hero. One of those students is Ochaco Uraraka, and her hero name is Uravity, as her special power is zero gravity. Read More: Cosplayer brings Overwatch’s Tracer to life – Cosplayer and MHA fan ‘honeyrabbiit’ posted her take on the character on her Instagram page, and surprised fans with her almost identical appearance to the TV show hero. The talented artist faithfully mirrored Uravity’s costume, as the hero sports giant wrist bracers, a two-piece clickable belt, and used the perfect material to re-create her iconic boots that have become a staple to her signature look. According to the show’s lore, each of these pieces of her costume negate the side effects of Uravity’s zero-gravity power, which causes the super-heroine to get nauseated if she uses her quirk too much, and the talented cosplayer nailed each piece. This isn’t the first time honeyrabbiit has cosplayed from the hero-based anime, as her Instagram hosts her other designs – such as an incredible female twist on the shows protagonist Izuku Midoriya. Read More: Insanely detailed MHA Froppy cosplay – However just like her Uraraka cosplay, it’s shocking how much she looks like ‘Froppy’ – a frog-like hero studying in the same class – proving her immense talent to become the characters that she creates costumes for. My Hero Academia season four began airing on October 12, and can be watched weekly on Funimation in the United States, as it’s currently being simulcast for the first time. Or if you prefer to watch with subtitles, Crunchyroll has you covered, as both the Japanese and dub go live at the same time.

Sword Art Online cosplayer takes aim with amazing Sinon costume – Dexerto
Sword Art Online cosplayer takes aim with amazing Sinon costume Instagram: ayleen.heavensky / A-1 PicturesItalian cosplayer Ambra Ferrante has jumped right into the anarchical world of Gun Gale Online with an amazing cosplay of Sword Art Online character Asada Shino, more commonly known as Sinon. Sinon is one of the most revered characters from Sword Art Online. The gun-shy Asada Shino jumped into Gun Gale Online to become one of the VR game’s best snipers, and became friends with the main cast along the way. Her trademark blue hair and green jacket can be spotted from a mile away, and although she’s known for being cool, calm, and collected, sometimes she can get a bit riled up. Piling all that personality and flair into a cosplay is tricky, but Ferrante managed to do that with a brilliant re-enactment of Sinon’s GGO attire. Her entire costume from head to toe looks handmade and to scale of the original. After all, it’d be pretty hard to find a jumper just like Sinon’s in any old shop. She also put some effort into getting the hairstyle just right too. While its a wig, the styling — down to the two pins on the front — is absolutely flawless. Ferrante topped off the GGO Sinon cosplay with a replica of Sinon’s rifle. The PGM Ultima Ratio Hecate II also looks to be created from scratch by the cosplayer themselves, and it puts the cherry on top of this immaculate cosplay. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_zvZxSDjHw/ Ferrante has demoed this cosplay at numerous events in the past, and it looks to be a fan favorite. It’s one of the most true-to-life representations of Sinon that we’ve seen. If Sinon isn’t your style, she has done a cosplay of Asuna in the past too, creating the Flash’s armor from scratch and completing it with her own Lambent Light. https://www.instagram.com/p/B9qutMPAPAv/ SAO isn’t the only franchise Ferrante has adapted into real life. She has done numerous other designs from other popular anime. From Evangelion’s Asuka, to Violet from Violet Evergarden, Ferrante has replicated some of the genre’s most recognizable characters. Check out her Instagram to see if she’s done one of yours.

Sword Art Online cosplayer creates breathtaking Asuna Yuuki – Dexerto
Sword Art Online cosplayer creates breathtaking Asuna Yuuki Instagram: meru.riri / A-1 PicturesA Sword Art Online fan brought Asuna Yuuki to life with an incredible cosplay that showed the heroine ready for battle. Sword Art Online has become one of the most popular animes in the world since its debut in 2012, with viewers enthralled by the series’ story which follows a group of players who become trapped inside of an MMORPG played in virtual reality. The show’s first arc follows Kazuto Kirigaya, who becomes friends and eventually falls in love with another player named Asuna, a fierce warrior who is almost unmatched in terms of swordsmanship, who quickly becomes an integral part of the story as the group attempt to escape from the game. Cosplayer ‘meru.riri’ is clearly a fan of the character, and enlisted the help of photographer ‘smug_sierra’ to help her capture the character in haw-dropping accuracy, posing with her sword in hand wearing an exact replica of character’s outfit from the anime’s first season, when she battled alongside the Knights of the Blood. Meru.riri gave Sword Art Online fans a look at her incredible cosplay on Instagram, showing off the incredible detail in the costume. Her long hair comes down in two massive parts that sit either side of her head and torso, and is seen wearing the same white top, along with the red pleated skirt that she wears in the show. The cosplayer has clearly put some incredible thought into her design, and even her socks look like they have been lifted off the screen and brought into real life, complete with the red accents and high cross logo that the character sports throughout the first season. Stunning Valorant cosplays bring Viper and Jett into the fight – Dexerto
Stunning Valorant cosplays bring Viper and Jett into the fight Peyton Cosplay/Riot GamesA pair of cosplayers have knocked it out of the park with their takes on Viper and Jett, agents from the extremely-hyped new FPS Valorant. Valorant is the hot new game in the world of first-person shooters, and cosplays were already being developed as soon as the game’s colorful cast of characters was revealed. In a set of photos, Argentine cosplayers Peyton Cosplay and Glory Lamothe showed off their takes on Viper and Jett respectively, and they could be some of the best so far. Peyton’s Viper is almost a perfect recreation of the character, with everything from her hair to her trademark green jumpsuit looking just like it does in Valorant. With her abilities mostly rotating around various corrosive gasses and acids a gasmask is essential for Viper, and it’s a central part of her look in the game. The unique snake scales on the mask are a feature some of us who have even played the game might have overlooked, but they do a great job of making Peyton look like the real deal herself. Lamothe’s Jett is no slouch either though, with the character’s Witcher-worthy white hair perfectly framing her striking light blue eyes. The clothing is also spot on, and some choice makeup practically turn the cosplayer into a carbon-copy of the slippery Korean agent. To top it all off, Lamothe even recreated the pose where she’s holding one of her kunai, representing the ultimate ability that everyone who’s not a Jett player has come to absolutely loathe (even though it’s nowhere near as bad as Raze’s). The pair’s cosplay has proven to be a massive hit already, and even earned to two a shoutout from the official Valorant South American Twitter account. Based on how well-received these amazing cosplays turned out to be, we’re sure to see more great Valorant content from both Peyton and Lamothe as the game’s fan base keeps growing.

Stunning Valorant cosplays are the best way to celebrate Yr1 – Dexerto
Stunning Valorant cosplays are the best way to celebrate Yr1 Riot Games/@cutiepiesensei/@StellaChuuuuuAs part of their Valorant Yr1 celebrations, Riot Games have commissioned cosplayers from around the world to cosplay as Astra, Killjoy, Reyna, Skye and Yoru. As Valorant’s Yr1 celebrations continue to get underway with the free Yr Event Pass and wwFest, Riot are continuing to bring the party. Taking a similar route to competitors such as Blizzard, the devs have commissioned a series of stunning cosplays that have wowed players all across the globe. From the celestial Controller Astra to the nature loving Initiator Skye, let’s take a look at Riot’s Yr1 cosplays. Stunning Valorant cosplays are blowing players’ minds The five Agents that Riot chose to have cosplayers create in real life are Astra, Killjoy, Reyna, Skye and Yoru. Listed in alphabetical order, the first stunning cosplay on our list is cutiepiesensei‘s Astra. Seen sporting the character’s in-game purple outfit, alongside a casual violet and yellow outfit that we’d wear any day of the week. With perfectly sculpted body paint framing her figure, she’s truly channeling Astra’s African-futurism vibes. From a similarly futuristic and colorful vein comes the next cosplay, Killjoy. Created by Stella Chuu, her neon yellow jacket and mint green beanie are perfectly recreated. Where our eyes jump to, though, is that adorable little turret. Crafted to perfection, we can imagine it sitting on top of the A-Site boxes on Bind. From the blue-soaked laboratories of Germany to the heart of Mexico, next up on our list is Alicia Marie’s perfectly crafted Reyna. Sporting that skintight black and purple outfit, and her stunning black tattoos, at first glance this could easily be a 3D-rendering of Reyna. Additionally, Alicia puts her spin on an everyday outfit for the vampiric Duelist, and it’s safe to say we want that in our closet right now. Taking a trip across the world, next on the list is Australia’s resident ranger, Skye. Donning her iconic camouflage and tying those luscious ginger locks back into a braid, mothchildcc looks as though she’s just stepped out of the depths of the outback into Future Earth. A slightly more casual (as if Skye could get any more casual) image sees her chilling outside the local diner, most likely after a few pints. Last on the list is Phil Mizuno’s Yoru, who is purely channeling his inner grunge vibes. Sporting that Sonic the Hedgehog blue quiff spiked hair and an ebony leather jacket, he looks like he’s ready to take to the underground streets of Tokyo and murder some radiants from the safety of the shadows. All in all, each one of these cosplayers nailed both the look and feel of their respective Agents. As Valorant’s cosplay scene continues to blossom, we can’t wait to see other Agents recreated in real life. If you’ve already mastered the cosplay game, though, send us your best efforts on our dedicated Twitter, ValorINTEL.

Stunning Valorant cosplayer casts a spell as the Sentinel Sage – Dexerto
Stunning Valorant cosplayer casts a spell as the Sentinel Sage Riot Games/Instagram/xangelicvenusxValorant’s Sage has proven to be a very popular character to cosplay ever since her reveal, and yet another cosplayer has stepped up to the plate to show their version of the agent. Cosplayer ‘xangelicvenusx,’ also known as Emily, showcased her cosplay in an Instagram post on September 8 alongside a series of photos. The outfit does a nice job as mimicking Sage’s attire with her white clothing blended nicely with the additional teal and purple hues. Emily also took pains and paid attention to the design’s small details: For example, she made sure to include Sage’s teal earrings, wrist armor, and the patch on her shoulder. https://www.instagram.com/p/CE4kzSKoc4D/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link “I am shield and sword, never forget that!” the cosplayer posted as the caption for her photoshoot. Additionally, with the help of some photo editing, she managed to include some of the agent’s orbs – key component of Sage’s kit that create barriers, heal and slow. Emily’s hair also lines up nicely with Sage’s, completing the look and making sure there’s no doubts who she is dressed as. While conventions are sadly still a ways off, at least cosplayers are still perfecting their craft from home. It’s looking likely that we’ll be seeing a lot more Valorant cosplays once conventions start back up; after all, the game was only released just this year. In addition to Sage, xangelicvenusx has also cosplayed as Yumeko from the hit gambling anime Kakegurui, Chloe Price from Life is Strange, and even Ahri and Jinx from Riot’s other popular game, the MOBA League of Legends. As Valorant keeps adding new agents, it’s likely we’ll see Emily cosplay even more characters from Riot’s tactical FPS – and we can’t wait to see what she plans to whip up next, considering the variety of her cosplays.

Cosplayer readies for battle as Princess Mononoke The story follows prince Ashitaka, who after getting cursed, stumbles upon an epic battle between the animal gods of a forest and the humans destroying it. He soon finds himself involved in the skirmish after meeting San – a girl who was raised by wolves. Cosplayer ‘satiellacosplay‘ showed off her stunning take on social media, and became the film’s heroine with an insanely detailed costume. Pulling back the character’s iconic red, white and gold clay mask, she readies to attack her foes. The Dutch creator’s outfit is full of detail, from the fur line wrist guards, to the cape that drapes behind her shoulders. The detail and accuracy of the item is so good, it could pass for an official prop from the film if it ever gets a live-action version. Satiella nails the wolf princess’s signature red warrior makeup, and even included little blood stains on her face and stomach, tying the whole outfit together with a battle-worn look. https://www.instagram.com/p/B4ezgzBDoqs/ Princess Mononoke’s darker style and tone was quite the departure for Studio Ghibli, but its legacy as one of the most important animes of all time has grown since its release in the 90s. The film was also a box office smash hit, and is ranked the seventh highest grossing film of all time in Japan. The movie’s themes about environmentalism has made it continue to be relevant even today.

Street Fighter cosplayer stuns fans as Chun Li’s doppelganger – Dexerto
Street Fighter cosplayer stuns fans as Chun Li’s doppelganger Twitter, @dvrazn0 / CapcomAs one of Street Fighter’s most popular characters, Chun Li has gotten the cosplay treatment countless times. But ‘dvrazn0’ absolutely stunned fans with a take that looks practically identical to the beloved fighter. Introduced in Street Fighter II, Chun Li (more appropriately named Chun-Li, but colloquially known without the hyphen) is a Chinese martial artist and interpol officer who has become one of the game’s most iconic protagonists. Whether it’s cosplay, inclusion in other games, or even mentions in pop culture (e.g. Chun-Li by Nicki Minaj) — Chun Li has gotten a lot of attention since her 1991 debut. With a character so commonly referenced and imitated, it’s rare for a Chun Li cosplay to demand attention. But dvrazn0’s is a deserving exception, as the cosplayer rocks the Street Fighter icon’s outfit seamlessly and ends up looking like a real-world doppelganger. From the replies to dvrazn0’s tweet, it’s clear that this Chun Li impersonation has made the impression. From people calling her “cute” and “pretty” to outright smashing their keyboards in unfiltered delight, this embodiment of Chun Li is levels above the rest. https://twitter.com/dvrazn0/status/1380336328391426049 To start things off, one must appreciate the outfit. Chun Li’s renowned blue qipao is spot-on, as are the unmissable bun covers adorning her hair. While dvrazn0 forsakes the spiked, metal bracelets that the character typically dons, she makes up for it with the outfit and general resemblance to the character. “They need rappers like me. So they can get on their f**kin’ keyboards and make me, the bad guy, Chun-Li.” As Nicki Minaj’s lyrics reinforce, Chun Li is a confident character who warrants some degree of fear. This is no accident, as the character made her presence very known as the first female character ever introduced to the franchise back in Street Fighter II: “I am the strongest woman in the world!” Despite showing no martial arts moves or even any visible intentions to fight, the replies prove just two pictures of dvrazn0’s cosplay are enough to induce submission by all. You have to embody a pretty strong character to get people to respond “DEMOLISH ME PLEASE IM BEGGING” and “Oh my God please END ME.” But, a personal favorite reply will always be this one, which demonstrates just how indescribably impressive this cosplay really is: “fkglsdFGKSLNFMGsGSKLDFNg sdNHKLSDF.”

Streamer celebrates Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot with absurd Frieza cosplay – Dexerto
Streamer celebrates Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot with absurd Frieza cosplay Toei/Twitch/zzamtiger0310Korean Twitch streamer ‘zzamtiger0310’ reached her final form during a January 18 stream when she cosplayed as anime antagonist Frieza during a Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot playthrough. The streamer shocked her viewers by walking into the frame wearing a costume resembling Frieza’s fourth and final form (at least in the Dragon Ball Z continuity) prompting a humorous response from her chat. Within seconds, the mostly all-Korean audience began typing “ㅋㅋㅋ” which is Korean slang for laughing. And for good reason too – zzamtiger0310’s cosplay definitely looked to be a bit on the lower-scale of quality, but that only added to its charm. The cosplayer’s outfit was white with patches of purple on the head, shoulders, and torso. It even had a tail for good measure. Most amusingly was the fact that the Twitch star painted her face white and added some purple lipstick to complete the getup. After posing for the camera, zzamtiger0310 even did her best impression of Frieza’s iconic laugh, and did a pretty good job all things considered. Frieza is considered to be one of the most infamous villains in all of anime and certainly the best antagonist that the entire Dragon Ball franchise has had to offer over the years. So much so that in recent years, he has been resurrected to yet again plague the universe in Dragon Ball Super. Despite her stream being almost exclusively in Korean, zzamtiger0310 is one of Twitch’s more popular streamers with over 150,000 followers. Over on YouTube, she regularly uploads League of Legends gameplay where she has 140,000 subscribers. It will be interesting to see what other absurd takes on Dragon Ball characters the streamer can pull off such as Cell, Majin Buu, Beerus, or even Broly. Hopefully she’ll try it out if there’s ever Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC. The game follows the events of Dragon Ball Z through to the Buu saga and the end of the original series. The two canon films taking place after the anime, Battle of Gods and Resurrection F, however, were remade for the Super anime. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is out now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

An AI image generator Dall-E recently took the internet by storm creating a viral craze. One cosplayer is using Dall-E to help create a stunning cosplay of a Demogorgon from Stranger Things. The program has spawned many memes, including a very popular rendition of several AI-generated images of a Demogorgon from Stranger Things holding a basketball. Now, one cosplayer recently brought the meme to life in cosplay they wore to the 2022 Anime Expo convention. Cosplayer brings Demogorgon basketball meme to life The cosplay came to life thanks to cosplayer “M4stiff‘ polling their Twitter followers on what cosplay they should wear to Anime Expo with the “top liked reply” being the winner. In a now-viral tweet captioned “I have got to stop letting Twitter decide,” cosplayer ‘M4stiff’ revealed the basketball holding Demogorgon won. After asking their followers for suggestions Mastiff tweeted “looks like I have 3 days to craft a Demogorgon head and learn how to ball,” confirming the quick turnaround for the cosplay. Despite being a meme suggestion, the cosplay is pretty impressive, especially given such short notice. i have got to stop letting twitter decide pic.twitter.com/xoYKaDktWY — mastiff (@m4stiff) July 4, 2022 M4stiff used a morph suit to create the Demogorgon’s body along with the beast’s iconic flower-petal-like mouth. The tweet showcasing M4stiff’s cosplay and the circumstances around it gained nearly 240,000 likes and over 16,500 retweets in just two days. A combination of the hype surrounding Stranger Things Season 4, the absurdity of the cosplay, and the Demogorgon meme no doubt fueled the post’s traction. Stranger Things cosplay duo look ready for the Upside Down – Dexerto
Stranger Things cosplay duo look ready for the Upside Down Netflix / ali_darling14, InstagramVenturing into the Upside Down might be a daunting task for the characters in Stranger Things, but two cosplayers pulling off incredible looks have certainly got their game faces on. They look ready to go. The popular Netflix series is a weird blend between sci-fi and 1980s popular culture, there’s no doubt about that, and a lot of that aesthetic isn’t just made up of what the characters talk about, but often what they wear as well. While recreating the vintage look of characters Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler – played by Joey Keery and Natalia Dyer respectively – might be a challenge too far for many, two cosplayers have stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the park. What must be particularly difficult about creating Stranger Things cosplays is that their clothing is quite normal, really. You could try to recreate the looks and have it turn out just like a normal outfit – rather than specifically looking like a character. That said, cosplayer ali_darling17 has posted a snap to Instagram that shows that while not easy, these two looks can be pulled off with cosplay. As seen below, the hairstyles really do make the cosplay here. The pulled back hair is a hallmark of Nancy’s look in the show, not to mention her shirt and jumper style – tucked in, of course. Then, for Steve, the long wavy hair, fitting baseball bat prop, and tight jeans just about does the trick. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_BKxN9hW-v/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link If the Stranger Things production team are looking for two lookalikes, for whatever reason, these two could easily slot right into the background of some shots and look recognizable – which is a testament to their outfit designs. Keep the camera slightly blurry, though, of course. Another snap was also uploaded to her Instagram, showing an action shot this time of Nancy. https://www.instagram.com/p/B-xjWBRhs9i/ It’s not the first cosplay we’ve seen do the rounds on the internet based on popular Netflix shows, however, as there’s more where this came from in The Witcher fanbase. Those who like admiring a good old cosplay or two will definitely appreciate their work, nevertheless.

Stella Chuu stuns LCS audience with LoL Dark Elementalist Lux cosplay – Dexerto
Stella Chuu stuns LCS audience with LoL Dark Elementalist Lux cosplay Instagram: Stella Chuu / Riot GamesTo celebrate the return of the LCS, Stella Chuu has stunned audiences live at the Riot Studio with an amazing Dark Elementalist Lux cosplay to help cheer Counter Logic Gaming on. Pulling off a cosplay is one thing, but trying to keep it true to a team’s colors while maintaining the same feel of the character is another. However, if there is one person in the cosplaying world that could do it, it’s Stella Chuu. The American cosplayer has done League of Legends cosplays before, but this time she was recruited by CLG to transform the luminous lady into a mascot for their League squad, and it was outstanding. They went hard with these CLG cosplays. 🔥 Now let’s open up with a W. #CLGWIN #LCS pic.twitter.com/cUQaJSCKjg — NRG Kia League (@NRGLeague) January 25, 2020 Showing off the Dark Elementalist Lux outfit on January 26 during the LCS Spring 2020 Opening Weekend, Stella Chuu’s cosplay looked impeccable. Chuu remade Lux’s staff with the CLG logo at either end, and changed the purple accents of the Elementalist Lux skin to the team’s iconic turquoise blue. She also recreated Lux’s neckpiece emblazoned with the CLG tag, topping it all off with a blue crown and a purple hair-do. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7wqOGhlc9h/ She looked right in place next to the CLG tent, helping the long-time LCS team attract more fans as 2020 wears on. She wasn’t the only cosplayer to help them out across the opening weekend, with the team also enlisting the services of Alfred Hightower and Annjela Saet to cosplay Aphelios and Ashe respectively. Both Hightower and Saet’s cosplays were as on the ball as Chuu’s, pulling off black-and-blue variations of the champion’s base cosmetics and making sure to get CLG’s logo front-and-center. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7418lpj1Dr/ While the cosplays would have certainly caught fan’s eyes, CLG’s gameplay on the Rift could do with a little bit more help. They currently sit on the bottom of the LCS table without a win to their name after four games, and their schedule isn’t getting any easier. However, they can find some solace in their attempt of winning the content game. Employing one of the best cosplayers in the business to promote your brand was a great idea for LCS’ opening weekend, and hopefully their blessing can help the team find success soon.

Stella Chuu blows fans away with perfect True Damage Akali cosplay – Dexerto
Stella Chuu blows fans away with perfect True Damage Akali cosplay Cosplayer Stella Chuu showed off a perfect recreation of True Damage Akali, blowing the minds of fans around the world. True Damage is League of Legends’ newest band, a hip-hop group that debuted at the World Championships in November 2019. They became an instant hit thanks to their impressive single ‘Giants’ and have since become a major player not only in the game but also in the cosplay world. Many cosplayers have shown their take on the band members, however, Stella Chuu’s version of Akali may just be the best one yet. Looking at the cosplay, it’s incredibly easy to see just how much work went into it, and how much it paid off. The outfit is likely as close to perfect as anyone can get, with every little detail being absolutely spot on. The clothes are exactly as Akali was portrayed in her True Damage debut, with the trousers and top being identical, and even the arm sleeve matching up perfectly, right down to the length and style. Of course, all the little details are too, such as her iconic gas mask and red bandana, as well as the canister on the back. The accessories weren’t forgotten about either, as her weapons are practically replicas and even the bracelets are featured. https://www.instagram.com/p/B53mc-ylFOB/ Now, the cosplay itself is already nothing short of brilliant, but what really puts it above and beyond is the fact it is not a still image, but a motion photo. Stella’s hair moves as the wind blows, and she sways slightly as if she were the champion in a classic in-game art piece. Fans were completely blown away by it all, with comments like “I can’t tell if this is real or not” and “this is mind-blowing amazing” filling her Instagram page. It’s not surprising that comments like these are flying in, as this may be the best League of Legends cosplay ever.

Starcraft’s Probe comes to life with incredibly unique cosplay – Dexerto
Starcraft’s Probe comes to life with incredibly unique cosplay Cosplayer Sparkle Stache showed off an amazing Protoss Probe cosplay at Blizzcon 2019 and fans couldn’t get enough of it. Blizzard’s annual convention, Blizzcon, took place from November 2-3 with the company putting up the usual celebrations, showing off new games, and running a cosplay competition. Every year hundreds of cosplayers flock to the event to participate in the contest, bringing with them some incredible and extremely creative creations, and this year was no different. 500A cosplayer known as Sparkle Stache showed up with one of the most unique outfits to-date, bringing the tiny robotic Protoss Probe to life and managing to keep it insanely accurate. The most amazing thing about the costume is how well it actually works – it’s difficult to imagine how it would be possible to scale up a small, circular robot to human size, but this works incredibly well and you can instantly recognize it. The Probe’s iconic horn and long ears are perfectly recreated, even including the blue glow, making the cosplay stand out with just a few accessories. This is accompanied by more of the bronze and blue glow throughout to really cement the original Probe look. However, what really makes it perfect is the little detail of adding minerals and a cube of vespine gas, just as the worker would collect in-game. This isn’t the only Starcraft cosplay that Sparkle Stache has done, in 2017 she did something even more unique, bringing a Protoss Pylon to life, which is one of the race’s key buildings. That’s right, she cosplayed as a building and actually made it work. We will undoubtedly be seeing her at Blizzcon again next year, likely bringing another crazy look that most people wouldn’t even think is possible.
