My Hero Academia cosplayer races into battle as mighty female Izuku Midoriya Viz Media / Instagram @sakuraflorrSakuraflor, a popular cosplayer with 750,000 followers on TikTok, stunned fans with a magnificent transformation into Izuku Midoriya, the unwitting star of My Hero Academia. Izuku Midoriya is, by far, the most popular character in My Hero Academia, according to community polls. It’s no surprise since he’s the main protagonist of the show. However, his selfless nature and iron play a big part, too. Cosplayers can’t seem to get enough of him, either. He’s a popular choice within the community. As a result, we’ve seen amazing cosplays of him pop up left, right, and center. Each one is incredible in its own way. Sakuraflor, a cosplayer with an enormous following on TikTok, decided to slip into his shoes, too. She already stunned us by cosplaying other popular characters, including Keigo ‘Hawks’ Takami and Nejire Hado. But as impressive as those previous cosplays were, her take on Izuku Midoriya might be the best one yet. “I love Deku so much!” she said. “He’s such a precious bean, so cosplaying him always brings me so much joy.” That passion and joy can be seen in the quality of the cosplay. She captured every little detail, from his iconic green hair to the armor-clad hero costume, mask, red sneakers, and more. It’s perfect from head to toe. My Hero Academia cosplayer puts stunning female twist on Red Riot – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer puts stunning female twist on Red Riot Instagram: miikhydeafening / Bone IncA My Hero Academia cosplayer has shown off their incredible take on one of the anime’s strongest characters, creating an incredible version of the stone hero Eijrou Kirishima with an awesome female twist. My Hero Academia follows the story of Izuku Midoriya and his fellow Class 1-A students at U.A. High School, as they learn to harness and improve their superpowers known as Quirks in their quest to become professional heroes, save the lives of the general public, and take down the evil League of Villains. While the story mainly focuses on Izuku, viewers meet tons of interesting heroes along the way, all with their own unique backstory. For many Kirishima, who is also known as Red Riot, may not have been a particularly enthralling character throughout the first three seasons, but became a fan favorite in the first arc of Season Four, overcoming devastating injuries to fight off a gang of crooks and save his mentor Fat Gum. While Kirishima may not have the flashiest or most spectacular Quirk, he certainly can’t be counted out in any battle, with his ability allowing him to turn himself into rock, which can be used to deflect attacks, or just to smash his enemies into submission when he uses it as part of his offensive arsenal. With a tough superpower, and an even tougher will to do good, it’s no surprise that Red Riot has become a popular character to cosplay, and ‘miikhydeafening‘ has created an unbelievable female version. Miikhy has created the perfect version of the character, complete with his gear-shaped shoulder pads and fiery red hair. She’s even wearing a perfect replica of his interesting black mask, which makes his face look like jagged rock even when his Quirk isn’t activated, just like the troll-like Oni creature seen in Japanese folklore. My Hero Academia cosplayer becomes number one hero as genderbent Deku – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer becomes number one hero as genderbent Deku Bones Inc / Instagram: Dianamaster1My Hero Academia’s main character and the aspiring future symbol of peace for the world Izuku ‘Deku’ Midoriya was brought to life by cosplayer Dianamaster in a perfect outfit with an incredible genderbent twist. My Hero Academia is without a doubt one of the most popular anime series in the world. The 2016 show follows the story of Izuku Midoriya, who is bestowed a ‘quirk’ — a superpower — by the world’s number one hero All Might. Midoriya, who claims the mantle of “Deku” after learning to control his powers at UA High, is on a quest to become the new symbol of peace. He might not be there yet — Season 5 is still on the horizon — but Dianamaster’s cosplay comes pretty close. Izuku Midoriya cosplay: Full cowling! In the show, Deku bases his hero costume off All Might’s silver-age outfit, complete with the No.1 hero’s peaked haircut. While the Spanish cosplayer may have skipped the bunny-like cowl Midoriya wears, she got the rest just right. The standout features are Midoriya’s battle-ready white gloves, and his bold red boots and belt, all of which he wears in the first four seasons of the show. The cosplay also created a perfect copy of his deep blue jumpsuit. No Deku cosplay would be complete without his padded leg guards. After breaking his arms in a battle against the League of Villains, he had to create a ‘Shoot Style’. Dianamaster adds the new pads to round out her costume. Finally, the cosplay’s centerpiece stands out in the middle of the photo, bright and bold — the green mop of hair Midoriya sports from the anime’s very first episode. With Izuku’s freckles added in, Diana’s cosplay was complete. View this post on Instagram The Spanish model clearly loves dressing up as Midoriya too. Her Instagram page is filled with recreations of iconic MHA scenes, including Deku’’s first meeting with villainous Himiko Toga, and his first argument with Sir Nighteye. Diana admitted Deku is her “all-time favorite My Hero Academia character.” She revealed on Instagram she was “so excited to be able to keep Midoriya’s hair-style” because everyone is staying home. Maybe we’ll even see more cosplay shoots? View this post on Instagram My Hero Academia’s fourth season just finished for viewers who prefer the show’s Japanese version. The wait goes on for English-dubbed fans, however, after the anglicized edition fell behind in late March. Episodes are still airing. While you wait, keep yourself entertained with more brilliant MHA cosplays! League of Villain members Himiko Toga and Dabi are both popular picks. There’s also been some amazing takes on Camie Utsushimi and Ochako Uraraka too.

My Hero Academia cosplayer melts hearts as Todoroki with female twist – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer melts hearts as Todoroki with female twist Toonami / Instagram: amnesiahazeA My Hero Academia cosplayer has melted hearts with her stunning cosplay depiction of aspiring superhero Shoto Todoroki, who can bend fire and ice to his will, complete with an amazing female twist. Shoto Todoroki is one of MHA’s most powerful characters. Currently enrolled in U.A. High alongside series faves like Izuku Midoriya and Ochako Uraraka, Todoroki often stands out thanks to his half-fire and half-ice quirk. Fans don’t just love Todoroki for his devastating hot and cold powers, though they are pretty impressive. His four-season long arc surrounding his hate for his father, current number one hero Endeavor, is what lifts Todoroki into a fan-favorite in the super-popular anime series. Shoto Todoroki cosplay burns bright Talented model and artist ‘amnesiahaze’ brought the aspiring hero to life with a mind-blowing Shoto Todoroki cosplay. It’s so good, fans can practically feel the heat and cold pouring out of the picture she snapped! In a July 4 post on Instagram, the artist showed off the jaw-dropping costume, complete with Shoto’s iconic face-burn. In the series, Todoroki is permanently scarred by his mother due to the fact he “looks so much like Endeavor.” It was a part of the cosplay Amnesia told Dexerto she “focused on the most”. It definitely shows! She looks to have got Shoto’s scar just right, spread across the side of her face like a brand. It matches perfectly with her half-red, half-white hair. Perhaps the most stunning part of the outfit — outside of the makeup work, of course — is the post-production fire and ice Amnesia added around her costume. It feels like Todoroki is already ready for battle because of the effects. Finally, the MHA cosplayer added a neck-high, dark blue jacket, to evoke the UA High outfits the My Hero Academia characters wear in most episodes of the show. Amnesia revealed she even “used what she had,” just modifying it slightly to work. View this post on Instagram “Complex” Todoroki the perfect choice The talented cosplayer told Dexerto she sees Shoto Todoroki as “a very complex character” after sharing her image on Instagram. “He has always lived denying his origins, a part of himself. The story of his childhood fascinated me. I feel close to him.” She added she wanted to tell his story with the “burn on his face.” Can’t get enough of My Hero Academia cosplays, or just think amnesiahaze portrayed Shoto just right? Good news; she gave Dexerto the tip she’s planning on doing a Deku cosplay next, so keep your eyes peeled for that soon!

My Hero Academia cosplayer melts hearts as female Todoroki Shoto – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer melts hearts as female Todoroki Shoto kazzabearcosplay, Instagram / Viz MediaWith season four of My Hero Academia in the books, fans are more antsy than ever for new content from the popular anime series — and thankfully, cosplayers are here to save the day. The last few episodes of MHA season four centered around the current number one hero, Endeavor, the father of popular character and UA attendee Todoroki Shoto. Known for his half-and-half ice and fire powers, Shoto is hailed as one of the best-loved students in UA among fans — and it’s easy to see why, given his intriguing backstory and incredibly powerful quirk. With this in mind, it comes as little surprise that fans love cosplaying as the young hero-in-training, with some putting unique spins on an already unique character. Alabama-based cosplayer ‘Kazza Bear Cosplay’ took the opportunity to do just that, putting a feminine spin on the male student with a few artful alterations. While Todoroki usually boasts shaggy, straight hair, Kazza opted for a curly half-and-half wig, cutting the bangs straight across in an ultra-cute hairstyle. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7R73kyDtjQ/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link As for Todoroki’s hero costume, the cosplayer cut his signature jumpsuit’s long pants into shorts, likewise opting for heeled boots and an open neckline. https://www.instagram.com/p/B-vLWeRjir7/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link The end result is a charming version of Todoroki that fans have never seen before, giving a fun and feminine spin to a character who’s all the rage among UA’s female students. https://www.instagram.com/p/B8RtEUTDR4y/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Todoroki isn’t the only character she’s cosplayed from MHA, either; she’s likewise taken on electrifying student Kaminari Denki and series protagonist Deku, who she even took into the woods for a rendition of his fantasy-themed outfit from the ending sequence of season two. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7E9cMhDVOO/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link That’s not all: she even brought out her take on the Big Three’s Amaji Kitamaki, photoshopping on octopus fingers in a mind-blowing show of special effects as a way to recreate his unique quirk of taking on traits from the food he eats. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_DZBqWjM2R/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Considering the wide scope of her talents, there’s no telling which hero she’ll take on next — but we can bet that we’ll be mind-blown no matter who she chooses!

My Hero Academia cosplayer melts anime fans hearts as cheerful Mina Ashido – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer melts anime fans hearts as cheerful Mina Ashido Instagram: @shayrielcosplay / Viz MediaA My Hero Academia cosplayer named Shayriel took on the difficult task of transforming into Mina Ashido and passed the test with flying colors, leaving fans speechless in the process. Tina, also known as Shayriel on Instagram, has pulled off many incredible cosplays throughout the years. She’s done everything from Ty Lee from Avatar: The Last Airbender to Rabbit Hero Miruko from My Hero Academia. The latest one to catch our eye was another character from the My Hero Academia universe; Mina Ashido. She is known for her unique appearance, which consists of pink skin, black and yellow eyes, and yellow horns. Mina’s quirk, Acid, gives her the ability to secrete a corrosive liquid from her body. She can control how soluble and viscous it is, letting her do everything from sliding around to making walls and even melting objects. MHA cosplayer becomes Mina Ashido Shayriel’s take on Mina is flawless from head to toe. She matched the pink skin, fluffy pink hair, and yellow horns to perfection. She also nailed the yellow horns, black and yellow eyes, the overall upbeat vibe. What really makes it stand out, though, is how well she tied Mina’s acid-proof hero costume into the rest of the look. It consists of a skin-tight purple and turquoise bodysuit covered in a sleeveless unbuttoned waistcoat. Shayriel said the bodypaint was “annoying” to wear. But overall, she felt “so comfortable” while dressed as the hero. It can be seen in the beaming smile on her face. View this post on Instagram Mina isn’t the most popular hero in the show. In fact, according to the latest official popularity polls, she’s 41st, which is a far cry from the likes of Katsuki Bakugo, Izuku Midoriya, and Shoto Todoroki. However, it’s nice to see her get some love from the cosplay community, especially when it’s done by someone as talented as Shayriel.

My Hero Academia cosplayer manipulates gravity as heroine Ochako Uraraka – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer manipulates gravity as heroine Ochako Uraraka Instagram: @melissa_lissova / FunimationA skilled cosplayer has brought My Hero Academia’s zero gravity heroine Ochako Uraraka to life in a take that’s so realistic, it looks as though she’s warped right out of the TV screen and into reality. My Hero Academia shook the anime world when it released in 2016, and quickly became a favorite among the community. It started off as a manga in the Japanese Weekly Shonen Jump magazine before it was transformed into a gripping TV show. The story focuses on protagonist Izuku Midoriya, a young boy born without a power in a world saturated by ‘quirks.’ Fortunately for him, he is handed a superpower by the number one hero All Might, and is whisked away to U.A. High – a school for budding pros to train and learn new skills. There, he meets and swiftly befriends lovable heroine Ochako Uraraka. Gravity-defying Uraraka cosplay In the show, Ochako’s quirk is Zero Gravity, which means that she is able to make things totally weightless with just a simple touch of her fingertips. She is able to make things float in mid-air, and activates and cancels the ability by placing her hands together in a ‘praying’ motion of sorts. Cosplayer Melissa Líssova captured the hero’s spirit perfectly with her take, using special effects to make it appear as though she’s floating like the character does in the anime. The Russian also dressed up in Uraraka’s U.A. High school uniform, and nailed every single detail perfectly, even down to the dark green cuffs at the ends of her blazer sleeves and on the lapel. https://www.instagram.com/p/B73Ksm-FO2u/ In another shot, the artist gives a closer look at the heroine’s mousey brown hair, which is famously styled in a shoulder-length bob with bangs and long strands that frame her face. You can also see just how much detail and accuracy is put into her uniform, as the shoulder pads and tie even includes gold buttons to match the ones on the blazer. My Hero Academia isn’t the only series that Melissa has taken on: she’s also cosplayed as characters from anime such as Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan, Naruto, and Sword Art Online. https://www.instagram.com/p/B6nTbbYlKuw/ If this stunning cosplay has inspired you to go and watch My Hero Academia, it can be streamed on both Crunchyroll and Funimation either dubbed or subbed. The show is currently partway into season four, so you’ve got plenty of time to catch up on all the action before the S4 finale airs later in 2020.

The artist’s accurate depiction will leave fans seeing double. Students in the popular anime attend U.A. High – one of the premiere schools that focuses on training the next generation of heroes. At the top of her peers, Nejire is considered one of The Big 3 at the institution. My Hero Academia Season 6 is set to kick off in a couple of months, and the excitement for its much-anticipated arrival is growing by the minute. Cosplayers have been getting back into the swing of things, too. They’ve ramped up their efforts to bring their favorite characters to life. Shikarakumi, a talented cosplayer whose dazzling recreation of Kai’Sa from League of Legends made headlines on Dexerto earlier in 2022, is one of them, and her take on Froppy is out of this world. Shikarakumi’s cosplay has got it all, from the dark green hair and matching face paint to the green, black, and yellow wetsuit. It looks utterly flawless from top to bottom and looks about as authentic as possible. What’s interesting though, is that while she did include the trademark goggles on top of her head like other cosplayers, she superimposed a two-dimensional image of them in the photo rather than making them, and it turned out great. View this post on Instagram She also included two other pictures in the gallery, one of which showcased her hair in more detail, while the other emphasized a different pose and featured another cosplay she did — one of Froppy’s classmate, Uraraka Ochaco. Shikarakumi didn’t miss a beat and absolutely nailed the transformation, which is something her fans have come to expect after seeing her dish up countless other cosplays throughout the years. We can’t wait to see what she’s got planned next.

My Hero Academia is a hugely popular anime that hit screens in 2016, capturing the hearts of many with the fascinating and loveable cast of characters, each with their individual special abilities, or ‘Quirks’ as they’re known in the show. Tsuyu Asui a.k.a Froppy became a hit among fans for her laid back personality but her straightforward and often hilarious lines. Her frog-like abilities give Tsuyu an adorable awkwardness that makes her even more entertaining to watch. Another reason for her entertainment value is her vibrant costume and green-tinged hair, which cosplayer cat_bat_cosplay has done a supreme job of recreating on Instagram. She has matched Tsuyu’s hero costume down to the smallest detail, the bright green bodysuit layered beneath black panels with yellow lining down the arms and body on par with the original. https://www.instagram.com/p/CFz-1DLLdWl/?igshid=1rpytfc3j06i2 Her white satin gloves are oversized just like Tsuyu’s, even topped with the green buckles, just going to show the level of attention that has been paid to accurately recreating this classic look. Of course, it wouldn’t be Froppy without the dark green tinted hair, and cat_bat_cosplay looks stunning with the quirky color, tying the outfit together perfectly from head to toe. She even has her bangs pulled to the middle to look just like the loveable anime character. https://www.instagram.com/p/CFKxyYyDUqV/ To top it off, her makeup looks immaculate, with a slight blush making the eyeshadow and rosy lip color pop, providing a lovely contrast between that and the bright green. My Hero Academia cosplayer makes Himiko Toga look devilishly charming – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer makes Himiko Toga look devilishly charming liiiaracosplay Instagram / BonesMy Hero Academia cosplayers tend to show every defining characteristic of the heroes and villains they take on, with one talented costumer making her Himiko Toga costume uncannily charming. Of all the characters in My Hero Academia, none have such erratic mood swings as the bloodthirsty Toga. At times, she’ll be fawning over the target of her affections, and moments later, she’ll be on the warpath to claim her next victim. While past cosplays show Toga in her more horrifying and sometimes bloody moments, designer ‘liiiaracosplay’ chose to depict the League of Villains member in a more charming light that speaks to her kinder nature. https://www.instagram.com/p/B5K7WFLIgOC/ The cosplayer got inspiration from Himiko’s civilian clothing, since the character typically wears the traditional Japanese school uniform for ladies when she isn’t masquerading with her imposing villain gear. But getting a close-up on Liiiara’s entire cosplay production, the devil seems to be in the details, especially on her makeup; nailing down Toga’s frequent blushy face, but given a charming twist with red eye shadow. Nothing conjures an unnerving chill more than the MHA antagonist’s large yellow eyes. Here, Liiiara goes with equally deep colorful irises that only add to the romantic maniac’s crazed effect. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7RMmibDlg-/ The cosplayer’s hair is similar as well to the anime character’s, with the controlled chaos of her messy buns perched atop her normally fixed fringed cut. A style of hair perfect for the character, since she might outwardly appear normal and of sound mind, but is actually concealing a disorderly, sinister side. When she’s actively working with the League of Villains, Toga can be seen in her same school uniform while also being equipped with her Blood Sucking Machine. One of the Lieutenants for the League of Villains, Toga is strapped from head to toe with gadgets that enable her Quirk as well as knives and vials. Though Liiiara went with the villain’s daytime attire, the character has been known to have fierce, manic outbursts at the most random of times. The cosplay is another triumph for Toga fans who have seen the villain portrayed in all lights – though, maybe not quite as charismatic as Liiiara’s unique take on her.

Many loveable characters have sprung forth from the world of the MHA anime, with each character built on their own personal Quirk. One such character that has found a home among millions of fans, is Tsuyu Asui, a.k.a. Froppy. She’s loved for her personality, and straight-talking style that gives her both an innocent quality and a definite charm. Froppy’s Quirk is literally “frog,” which, as the name suggests, gives her abilities akin to a frog, such as leaping, using her elongated tongue, and skillful aquatic movement. This has cemented her as a fascinating and much-loved character in the series. Maridesuwu recreates the perfect Froppy Cosplayer maridesuwu decided to give her take on the popular character, and it’s safe to say that she went the extra mile. The background to the pictures taken by felix_works and edited by rozenreverie_cosplay is a lake, with a rocky formation giving it a natural look. But maridesuwu isn’t just standing by the lake, she’s actually in it, showing her dedication to accurately portraying the frog-like girl. The colors are vibrant, with black and silver plates and patches that overlay the main body in the exact same way as the original. The suit also appears to be shaded, and with a slightly metallic sheen, captures the light in a way that gives it a mesmerizing 3D animated look. Maridesuwu’s dark hair is tinged a deep green just like Froppy’s, which ties in perfectly with the face-paint beneath her eyes. Her goggles are from robopenguin_cosplay_props and are a superb addition to the brilliant costume. Overall this cosplay did a great job of recreating the much-loved Froppy, and her dedication to getting that perfect shot certainly paid off.

My Hero Academia cosplayer looks truly villainous as fierce Himiko Toga – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer looks truly villainous as fierce Himiko Toga Instagram: layvendercos / BonesA skilled Instagram cosplayer has recreated one of My Hero Academia’s primary antagonists, Himiko Toga, in extraordinary detail, bringing her villain attire to life with their amazing look. [jwplayer MDxzN19r] The anime My Hero Academia was released in 2016, and has since then scooped up an enormous fan base of people who adore the show’s perfect blend of action and interesting characters. Each character has a super power called a ‘Quirk,’ and this ability is unique to each person, and offers them a range of boosts and characteristics that help show off their individuality. That goes for both protagonists and antagonists, and one of the primary villains, Himiko Toga, has ended up becoming somewhat of a fan-favorite for her sadistic personality with its own unique charms. When in her usual form, Toga sports a baggy school uniform look, which many cosplayers have done an extraordinary job of recreating. But the character’s villain uniform can be harder to pull off and maintain Toga’s confidence, with clunky machinery fixed around her neck. But cosplayer layvendercos has done a fantastic job of donning the iconic Toga look, and certainly looks as though they could play the role in a live-action version of the show. View this post on Instagram Reminiscent of Toga’s school attire, this cosplayer wears knee length marl gray socks with some brown leather brogues, their legs dangling from their seat in one image as part of the character’s persona. This is paired with a black skirt, and Toga’s token cream-colored jumper, which looks oversized as part of the original look, giving a slightly cute appearance. However, this cute school look is directly contrasted with Toga’s villain attire. Thick canisters are hung from their neck, along with the classic black smile mask. Fastened to their legs and waist are green knife boxes, with one knife clasped firmly in their hand. View this post on Instagram Their blonde hair is styled to match Toga’s voluminous space buns, with chunky bangs falling either side of their face to frame it, and perfectly bringing the look together. Layvendercos certainly did an incredible job as Himiko Toga, and will have their followers excited to see what may but up next for the cosplayer.

A talented cosplayer celebrated the beloved franchise by sharing her true-to-life take on popular protagonist Rumi Usagiyama. The artist brought the character’s alt ego, Rabbit Miruko, to life with her incredible costume. My Hero Academia cosplayer is ready to school villains as Midnight – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer is ready to school villains as Midnight Instagram/blood.raven/BonesCosplayer ‘Bloodraven’ has been making quite a name for herself across social media, and her take on My Hero Academia’s U.A. High School teacher ‘Midnight’ shows exactly why. The model’s outfit is a great recreation of Midnight’s thin white fabric suit that the character wears in the show. The cosplay manages to maintain its many intricacies and even looks like an exact replica, seemingly ripped right from the pages of a colorized manga. For instance, Bloodraven’s outfit includes the two handcuffs on each wrist, the red utility belt, and blood-colored collar. https://www.instagram.com/p/B8M3VIbBJvo/ Additionally, the cosplay includes Midnight’s red mask, red finger nails and dominatrix-style flogger that complete the “bad teacher” ensemble presented in both the anime and manga. According to the model, she got the mask, gems and pyramid studs from fellow prop-maker ‘Atlis,’ while her wig was sourced from the ever-popular supplier Arda Wigs. In one of Bloodraven’s most impressive Midnight photos, she poses alongside fellow cosplayer ‘kyrramarie,’ who is dressed as series favorite (and Midnight’s friendly rival) ‘Mt. Lady.’ https://www.instagram.com/p/ByIzKrCFXKk/ “I’m so happy we had the chance to cosplay together at Fanime,” she wrote of their shoot in an Instagram post. Seeing the two heroes side-by-side sure is something, especially considering the duo’s humorous relationship in the series. In addition to Midnight, Bloodraven has pulled off many different cosplays from My Hero Academia, including the unhinged villain Himiko Toga, Camie Utsushimi, and even a female take on half-and-half hero Todoroki. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bv4msEdgMKX/ Aside from MHA, Bloodraven has also dressed up as the fan-made Bowsette, Kakegurui’s Yumeko, Overwatch’s Reaper, Tifa from Final Fantasy 7, and many more. Despite the fact that Midnight’s quirk, Somnambulist, puts enemies to sleep, we can’t help but feel wide awake after seeing what Bloodraven can come up with when she puts her mind to it. Considering her talents, its no stretch of the imagination to assume that her next creation might be even more unique than the costumes she’s already mastered.

My Hero Academia cosplayer is ready for action as awesome Froppy – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer is ready for action as awesome Froppy Instagram: evvils / Bones Inc[jwplayer MDxzN19r]My Hero Academia remains one of the most popular animes in the world, and while the series may follow the story of Izuku Midoriya, Froppy has captured hearts around the world, and comes to life in his incredible cosplay of the frog-like hero. Midoriya meets a host of crazy characters with mindblowing quirks when he enrolls at U.A. High School, where he hopes to learn how to master his newly-found superpowers which he inherited from his idol All-Might, and use them to become the world’s number one hero. While she may not be the most powerful of heroes, Tsuyu Asui quickly captured the hearts of viewers across the globe and has become one of the series’ most cosplayed characters, with Instagram user ‘evvils’ showing her appreciation for the character with a perfect cosplay. Froppy can often be seen as shy and measured, rarely speaking out and preferring to take a back seat in school activities, but don’t let that fool you, as Asui is as brave and fearless as they come. While it may not always be evident, her solo battle against a group of villains while out learning with professionals early in her time at U.A. removed any doubt about her strength or combat prowess. Madi is clearly a huge fan of the character, showing off her perfect recreation of Froppy, complete with the instantly-recognizable green bodysuit she wears when fighting off enemies. Perched on top of her head is the classic golden goggles, while she captured the white harness that covers Asui’s torso and waist perfectly. My Hero Academia cosplayer invents perfect Mei Hatsume look – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer invents perfect Mei Hatsume look Instagram: npanman_cos2 / Bones IncMy Hero Academia is one of the most popular anime titles in the world, and a talented cosplayer has created a perfect replica of U.A. High’s master inventor Mei Hatsume. While the series follows the main character Izuku Midoriya on his quest to harness his superpower known as a quirk, Deku meets lots of side characters along the way at his time attending U.A. High School, and perhaps none are quite as interesting as the strange but inventive Mei Hatsume. While many who attend U.A. High have incredible superpowers, Hatsume is actually quirkless, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t incredibly strong, using her natural gifts to create and invent gadgets that not only give her an upper hand in combat but also helps other students hoping to become professional heroes to control or maximize their strength with unique tools. While Hatsume’s talent is unquestionable, it’s not what has attracted fans across the world to the character, as many fall in love with her almost overbearing personality, known for getting up close and personal with anyone she meets. The genius may be shameless in the advertising of her creations, but her determination to succeed is unrivaled and views failure as a step to success rather than a roadblock. Instagram user ‘anpanman_cos2‘ is clearly a huge fan, showing off her incredible version of the character while wearing the classic blue and silver U.A. High gym uniform. Anpanman captured the character perfectly, with her pink hair flowing down to her shoulders, and even wearing a perfect version of the Mei’s red and gold goggles perched on top of her head, mimicking the inventor with astonishing accuracy. My Hero Academia cosplayer pulls off impressive gender-bent Midoriya and “We Are Here” for it – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer pulls off impressive gender-bent Midoriya and “We Are Here” for it ineedsugar31, Instagram / Viz Media‘My Hero Academia’ fans may have to wait until October for the next season, but that doesn’t mean that cosplayers are waiting around for the release of new characters. Talented cosplayer ‘ineedsugar31’ decided to put a different spin on the anime’s main character, Izuku ‘Deku’ Midoriya, giving him a more feminine look as opposed to his original design. Ineedsugar switched up Deku’s hero uniform in a big way, fashioning some cutouts on the sides and removing the character’s baggy pants for shorts. All for One: Full Cowling! Of course, Deku’s freckles and mussed, green hair are still part of the ensemble, as is his mouthpiece, staying faithful to the original design while still managing to give his outfit a fresh, new look. The cosplayer has also provided fans with a take on Deku’s casual outfits outside of school and hero work, as shown in the anime and manga during the series’ downtime. An explosive cosplay makeover Ineedsugar isn’t the only cosplayer to genderbend one of the series’ titular male characters, either; cosplayer Remy Domino is also featured in several photos with Deku as femme Bakugo, giving the character an explosive makeover. The two have taken an array of photoshoots together, wearing both their hero uniforms and UA onesies, among other outfits. The duo have also created female versions of #2 hero Endeavor and his son, Todoroki Shouto, compete with an impressive array of LED lights installed in their costumes to bring the characters (and their powers) to life. Heroes vs Villains Ineedsugar isn’t all about the heroes, though; she has also cosplayed one of MHA’s favorite villains, creating a faithful rendition of the League of Villains’ Himiko Toga (complete with her psychotic smile). Remy Domino is also not one to shy away from villainy, whipping up a female version of the League of Villains’ Dabi and his signature blue flames. Domino has also created Bakugo’s fantasy rendition, as seen during one of the anime’s ending sequences during Season 2. Remy isn’t the only one to have put a feminine spin on Bakugo; cosplayer Tokidoki also genderbent the character, featuring his black mask and explosive ornaments with a wave of long hair. MHA Season 4 is set to air in October 2019, following the release of the ‘Two Heroes’ movie and live stage play in Japan.

My Hero Academia cosplayer hops into battle as Rabbit Hero Mirko – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer hops into battle as Rabbit Hero Mirko Viz Media / capulet.cosMy Hero Academica isn’t all about the main characters since there are plenty of excellent minor ones too, and one cosplayer stunned her fans by dressing up as Rabbit Hero Mirko. Mirko is an awesome character for many reasons. My Hero Academica fans love her tough, straightforward, and tenacious personality. However, they also love the fact she takes on intense situations with a big smile. Mirko also has a somewhat zen-like approach to life, which is a stark contrast to her ferocity. She takes every day as it comes and has no qualms about putting her life on the line for the greater good. All in all, it makes her the perfect fifth-ranked professional hero. My Hero Academia cosplayers often dress up as main characters and fan-favorites. However, they still show minor characters like Rabbit Hero Mirko some love too, and that’s exactly what Julia (also known as capulet.cos) has done. “Joining a team is for weaklings,” she wrote, in reference to Mirko’s belief that teams are for cowards. “More Bunny content for y’all. She’s definitely my favorite character from [My Hero Academia] and [I] love the amount of confidence this cosplay gives me.” View this post on Instagram Julia looks absolutely stunning as Rabbit Hero Mirko. She’s included everything from the trademark bunny ears, white hair, fluffy collar, and gloves to a picture-perfect replication of the outfit itself. It even has the crescent moon symbol on her chest, which ties in with the name of some of Mirko’s moves. Luna Ring, Luna Fall, and Luna Arc all revolve around Mirko’s insanely powerful leg kicks. View this post on Instagram Unfortunately, it seems like the wig is a bit of a hassle to wear. “I hate the wig so much,” said Julia. “It tangles so fast.” Still, it looks fantastic and was definitely worth the trouble. My Hero Academia fans have been pouring in to praise Julia and show their support, and the numbers keep on rising.

My Hero Academia cosplayer hits a Comet Home Run as Ochaco Uraraka Viz Media / @honeyrabbiitOchaco Uraraka is one of the most charming characters in My Hero Academia, but even though she’s a popular pick in the cosplay community, it’s hard to find an outfit that looks as awesome as this one. Ochaco Uraraka was first introduced in the third episode of My Hero Academia, and fans have loved her ever since. Generally, she’s upbeat, positive, laid-back, and a little air-headed at times. However, she can be extremely determined and focused at times, and hates being underestimated. Plus, she has an incredible quirk known as ‘Zero Gravity.’ It lets her make specific targets immune to the effects of gravity and can be used in a variety of ways. Ochaco’s hero costume is made up of a black bodysuit with a pink design down the middle. It also has two black circles on her chest, a black rectangle below her waist, and two pink patches over her shoulders. She also wears pink armbands, a choker, a belt, wrist guards, and knee-high boots. It’s one of the most iconic hero costumes in the show, and cosplayers love re-creating it as authentically as they can. However, a cosplayer named honeyrabbiit brought it to life in the most incredible way. View this post on Instagram The picture of honeyrabbiit’s cosplay has already generated more than 20,000 likes, which is insane. The numbers keep on rising. She also made it herself, except for the wig, which was made by bep.cosplays. In fact, it was so well-received, she posed in it again alongside bep.cosplays, who also happened to be wearing an awesome Katsuki Bakugo costume. “All I remember is that I was freezing and I took a hot bath after this shoot,” she said. View this post on Instagram The second picture also has pulled more than 10,000 likes. It seems like My Hero Academia fans know an incredible cosplay when they see it, and won’t hesitate to pour in with support. Of course, the epic photography from arcane_shutter in both shots was a nice touch, too. If we’ve learned anything from the show, it’s that a team effort can go a long way. The success of this honeyrabbiit’s cosplay is a good example of that.

My Hero Academia cosplayer goes viral as hugely impressive Mt Lady – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer goes viral as hugely impressive Mt Lady Bones Animation / Instagram: hendoartA My Hero Academia cosplayer has gone viral for their stunning take on the super-sized heroine Mt Lady. The artist’s perfect recreation captures the gigantic hero perfectly, and fans are already loving the cosplay! Most of the super-popular My Hero Academia anime series focuses on main characters like Izuku Midoriya and Ochako Uraraka. There are plenty of other heroes roaming the wide world, however, including the flirtatious Yu Takeyama. Titanic heroine Takeyama, who is better known in the show by her moniker Mt Lady, is one of the first crime fighters Midoriya goes to see in the opening episode of the series. She is part of “The Lurkers” group alongside Edgeshot and Kamui Woods. Mt Lady is also one of the heroes that has her own fanbase, both in the show and out. In the series, fans chase after The Lurkers to get her signature. The super-sized heroine often gets free food and gifts because she’s so popular. Hendoart unveils eye-catching Mt Lady cosplay Talented model and artist Sarah ‘hendoart’ Hendo brought the giant heroine to life in a larger than life cosplay. The American model — who also streams on Twitch — said Mt Lady is one of her favorite characters, though she “wants to make them all!” She certainly knocked it out of the park too, almost as high as Mt Lady herself. Outside of the hero’s growing powers, her main costume features are based around her stylish face mask and purple horns. Hendo had them both. In fact, she designed the worbla mask herself, though the horns were made by her friend and fellow cosplay artist Kinpatsu. Both features are amazing too; Hendo looks just like the MHA character, even down to the long blonde hair. View this post on Instagram I dunno if having horns would make me hit my head on stuff less or more… #MtLady #BNHA #MHA #BNHACosplay Finally, Mt Lady’s tight-but-stretchy jumpsuit, which expands with her when she grows, was the main section of Hendo’s cosplay. She certainly got that right too — the white highlights and orange trim brings the whole hero suit together. According to Hendo, however, it wasn’t totally fun making the costume before she got in front of the cameras. In fact, it was a real pain: “This suit was surprisingly tedious to sew! I want to do all the characters… but it’s such a pain in the butt.” Despite the problems Hendo seems to have had while she was making the costumes, she did say she’d be doing more My Hero Academia costumes and outfits in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled for that on her Instagram page. She’s already got a few other stunning MHA outfits on there too, including Fatgum. She’s also done a ton of other pop-culture costumes, from Spider-Man and Psylocke, to Overwatch hero D.Va and Game of Thrones Queen Daenerys Targaryen, and plenty more. The My Hero Academia anime series has become a cultural juggernaut since its debut back in 2016. The animation wrapped up its fourth season in April. My Hero Academia cosplayer goes Plus Ultra with Deku female twist Studio Bones / Mochi Chuu InstagramThe star of My Hero Academia has been remade by various cosplayers, but a unique take for a genderbent design perfectly reimagines Deku in a new light. Even as the wide-eyed character is already a favorite among anime fans, the cosplay community keeps finding ways to bring fresh takes that expertly plays with the features seen on thep popular protagonist. The latest being from cosplayer ‘Mochi Chuu’ who took some creative liberties with Izuku Midoriya’s hero costume which gave the outfit an entirely different impact – transforming Deku’s straightforward design into something much more epic. One of the most prominent alterations from the cosplay lies in the long and flowing hair that extends past Midoriya’s regular bushy head topped off by a black-bowed ribbon. Though he has normal features for MHA’s character design standards, this version of the main hero makes key alterations that stand out compared to the original design. Mochi Chuu got rid of the typical track jumpsuit that he wears as a coverall below his hero gear. Now there’s more personality infused with Deku’s look with a crop top designed to mirror the anime character’s look. The imposing red utility belt that sits securely on the anime character’s waist has been scaled down to a ribbon that compliments the rest of the suit’s sleek style. Further changes come in the form of her layered skirt with accompanying thigh-high socks to accommodate her knee pads and leg braces. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_VTGuFjCJL/ Although he rarely wears his mask anymore, Mochi Chuu was able to incorporate the hoodie with attached ears that really started to give the whole design its own flair. Apart from that and the respirator around the neck, almost everything on Deku’s series design has been spruced up and reshaped to naturally fit on a female version of the hero. https://www.instagram.com/p/CALUj9FjyvX/ There’s been a ton of alternate takes for classic character designs from the MHA fan base, and this one is didn’t hold back with its creative blend of elements. My Hero Academia cosplayer floats into action as Ochako Uruaraka Instagram: rosemarymaiden / FunimationA My Hero Academia cosplayer has stolen the hearts of fans of the popular anime with her amazing take on the gravity-defying hero Ochako Uraraka. My Hero Academia first started life as a manga back in 2014, but captured the imaginations of viewers worldwide upon its release as an anime, following the story of Izuku Midoriya, a young man born without any superpowers who inherits the legendary quirk known as One for All from his idol All Might. Along the way, Deku meets a host of characters as he hones his skills at U.A. High School, and perhaps none of his classmates are as popular with fans of the series as Ochako Uraraka, a young woman who’s powers allow her to alter and defy gravity at will. Ururaka’s Zero Gravity quirk instantly makes her one of the more powerful students at U.A. High, able to make anything she touches weightless and even make herself float should she choose to. It’s not her abilities that endeared her to My Hero fans though, as her lovable and kind personality captured the hearts of many. While some become pro heroes to be famous or save people, Uravity’s goal is simple — provide a better life for her parents. Cosplayer ‘rosemarymaiden‘ is clearly a massive fan of the character, showing off a near-perfect recreation of the character. However, that doesn’t mean fans don’t love her. In fact, she’s proven to be a smash hit in the cosplay scene — not only because of her unique rabbit-like appearance but also because she serves as a symbol of empowerment for anime fans throughout the world. My Hero Academia cosplayer explodes into action as female Bakugo – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer explodes into action as female Bakugo Viz Media / mochichuu, InstagramMy Hero Academia is an ongoing anime/manga series that boasts a wealth of colorful characters — one of them being the ever-popular Katsuki Bakugo, which a skilled cosplayer brought to life with her own special twist. Bakugo (whose name literally means “explosion”) is one of MHA’s titular characters, acting as a foil to main protagonist Deku, who he constantly teases during the length of their heated rivalry. Bakugo’s name is also relevant to his quirk, “Explosion,” allowing him to shoot powerful explosions from his hands, which are covered in nitroglycerin that allow him to create the blasts he uses for mobility and combat purposes. As one of the show’s most popular students, it comes as little surprise that the fiery youngster has seen multiple renditions from cosplayers the world over — but one costumer has truly flipped the script with Bakugo in a huge way. Popular Italian cosplayer “Mochi Chuu” revealed her very own version of Bakugo on her Instagram account, genderbending the character with a unique feminine twist that truly brings out her sadistic side. Replacing Bakugo’s athletic tanktop for a haltered crop-top, there’s not much that separates the character’s classic hero costume from her feminine portrayal, otherwise — excluding the killer eyeshadow and makeup, of course. https://www.instagram.com/p/CAYQYaPjNU9/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Nevertheless, Mochi’s costume is truly top-tier, providing a stunningly accurate take on Bakugo’s spiky hair and elaborate hero outfit, giant grenades and all. While the cosplay is surely a work of art, Mochi admitted that the outfit has since been destroyed, but claimed that she hopes to remake it into an even better version for the future. https://www.instagram.com/p/CALUj9FjyvX/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link This isn’t the first time she’s genderbent MHA’s male characters, either; Mochi previously debuted a female version of Deku, giving the character long hair an a fashionable crop top to set her apart from her male inspiration. With MHA season four finally completed, fans are anxiously awaiting the next arc for the popular anime; and although a certain release date has yet to be confirmed, an official announcement for the show has claimed it is on the way “soon.” That’s good news for our cosplayers like Mochi Chuu!

My Hero Academia cosplayer dresses up as pro hero Miruko – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer dresses up as pro hero Miruko Bones / juvartsyThe My Hero Academia fan base has dug up countless cosplays covering U.A. High School’s most popular students, but sometimes the community gives a special shout to professional talent like Miruko. As one of the pro heroes of the series, Rumi Usagiyama, aka Miruko, doesn’t always show up in the spotlight episode to episode. But the hero empowered with the abilities of a rabbit has been fan-favorite, even with limited exposure. While past designs have paid homage to series-regulars like Toga or Midoriya, cosplayer Julianna ‘juvartsy’ showed off a cosplay based on the rabbit hero that is a perfect rendition of the anime. Unlike other intricate or wild designs that some of MHA characters could have, Miruko has a much simpler design for her hero costume. Her white leotard has trims of purple and a yellow crescent moon design over chest. In the anime, she can also be seen with two large metal plates around her waist, a hero-tool that likely allows her to make full use of her rabbit-inspired powers. Though her cosplay isn’t outfitted with heavy metal accessories, juvartsy still brought most of the elements to play with the design she used. While Miruko looks like someone who’s always down to rumble, the cosplayer brought a calmer aesthetic to the character. Though she managed to outfit herself as the hero to a T, even donning the character’s red eyes that she’s known for. In fact, juvartsy has been known to cosplay as popular MHA icons like Toga, Todoroki, and even Bakugo as well as characters from other beloved franchises. My Hero Academia cosplayer disguises herself as mischievous Himiko Toga – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer disguises herself as mischievous Himiko Toga Viz Media / Instagram: ladyjunimoHimiko Toga is an immensely popular character in My Hero Academia despite being a villain, and one cosplayer has paid her respects with a ghoulishly accurate cosplay.[jwplayer 7oUVaTrP] My Hero Academia has awesome characters from all different walks of life, but none of them are more impish than Himiko Toga. However, even though she’s a major antagonist and villain, she’s developed a cult following among fans. Some are drawn to her cheerful and charming but sadistic personality, while others can’t get enough of her awesome quirk. In essence, she can transform into a physical lookalike of others and even copy their voice. There is one small catch, though. Himiko Toga can only transform into people whose blood she consumes. The more she drinks, the longer she can pretend to be that person. In other words, she’s a bit like a vampire with a twist. Himiko Toga is a fan-favorite among cosplayers. People love slipping into her trademark outfit, which looks a lot like a traditional Japanese uniform. However, it’s hard to find one better than Olive Odell’s, who also goes by the name of ladyjunimo on Instagram. “I just thought you’d be cuter if you bled a little more,” she said, staying eerily true to the character. “Did you know that toga and I are the same height?” View this post on Instagram Himiko Toga’s outfit consists of a plain seifuku with a Kansai collar, a dark blue shirt with a double white trim, and a dark blue skirt. Olive Odell nailed all those things, and she even included the loose red scarf and oversized cardigan. Olive Odell also matched Himiko Toga’s blonde hair and pinned it into two disheveled buns. She didn’t forget the fangs either and even threw in the yellow eyes and a slight blush. If that wasn’t enough, she also showcased the mask and collar in a second shot, the latter of which looks like a menacing grin. Himiko Toga uses these as a part of her mechanism to extract blood from others. It’s a magnificent cosplay from top to bottom, and one that might make Himiko Toga even more cheerful than she already is.

My Hero Academia cosplayer defies gravity as perfect Ochako Uraraka – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer defies gravity as perfect Ochako Uraraka Viz Media / Instagram: @chameleahncosOchako Uraraka is one of the most likable and talented students in My Hero Academia, and a cosplayer named ChameLeahn has done a fantastic job of bringing her to life in the real world. It’s impossible not to love Ochako Uraraka. She’s bright, bubbly, and one of the most cheerful characters in the show. However, despite being described as “the most laid back girl” in U.A. High School’s Class 1-A, she’s a formidable aspiring hero with lots to prove. Her Quirk, Zero Gravity, is also incredibly cool. It gives her the power to nullify the effects of gravity on solid targets by touching them, which causes them to become weightless and float. It’s a versatile tool that has come in clutch time and time again, and it can be a powerful weapon. Ochako’s hero costume looks fantastic too. It includes a black bodysuit with a pink design running down the middle, two black circles on her chest, a black rectangle below her waist, and a choker necklace. It also comes with two wrist guards, a pair of large rounded knee-high boots, a belt, and an astronaut-themed helmet with a tinted visor. They’re all pink-colored and seamlessly tie into the rest of her costume. A cosplayer named ChameLeahn did her best to re-create it, and it turned out great. “This was the Uravity pic that started my social media journey and all the anxiety that came with it,” she said. View this post on Instagram The piece is perfect from head to toe. It has all the accessories and details, minus the helmet, and she wears it well. She followed it up with a second shot that gives fans a better look at the hair and make-up, as well as the wristguards and choker. Of course, it wouldn’t be an Ochako cosplay without the iconic blushed cheeks. View this post on Instagram Between the two images, ChameLeahn has pulled more than 3,000 likes, which is insane. She also has another photo that performed equally well too. Fans complimented her for doing “such a great job.” They described it as incredible, fascinating, and flawless, and their praise is right on the money.

My Hero Academia cosplayer creates waves as Big 3’s Nejire Hado Instagram: mangoecos / BonesCosplayer ‘mangoecos’ has taken on My Hero Academia’s Nejire Hado in style, bringing the kind of energy a member of U.A.’s “Big 3” should have, and it’s making waves within the fandom. To say My Hero Academia has been a cultural phenomenon at this point might be an understatement. The series has gone viral since its 2016 debut, hooking viewers around the world with its intriguing story into a special high school designed to turn students into superheroes. One of those students is Nejire Hado. While not the prime focus of the series, she is one of the more inspirational students to look up to. After all, she’s part of the coveted “Big 3,” the group of U.A.’s most talented students. She’s got the potential to become a Top Pro Hero, and she shows it off with her incredible wave manipulation skills. However, she’s more than just a powerful figure in the school — she’s down-to-earth and thoughtful, helping new students find their feet. She might not be the most popular character to cosplay from the series, but that hasn’t stopped many like ‘mangoecos’ from trying. The American cosplayer has put her own spin on the eccentric hero, and fans are digging it. The key to a great Nejiro cosplay is the wig, perfectly styled with the horns, and Mangoe has done that perfectly. She’s also managed to pull off her blue and white jumpsuit, and hasn’t forgot any of the trimmings. View this post on Instagram Nejire isn’t the only character from My Hero Academia Mangoe has cosplayed in the past. She’s also taken on Mt. Lady, and she doesn’t plan on stopping there. My Hero Academia cosplayer creates shockwaves as Nejire Hado – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer creates shockwaves as Nejire Hado Instagram: elaine.rose.cosplay / BonesA talented My Hero Academia cosplayer has shown off her incredible take on one of U.A. High School’s ‘Big 3’, the powerful and popular Nejire Hado. [jwplayer MDxzN19r] My Hero Academia follows the story of Izuku Midoriya, a young man born without superpowers who dreams of becoming a pro hero. A chance encounter with his idol All Might leads to Deku being gifted the legendary quirk known as One For All, and with his newfound abilities enrolls at U.A. High to learn how to harness them under the tutelage of the Symbol of Peace himself. Throughout his years at the school, Midoriya meets lots of characters who become part of his legacy there, including a run-in with third-year students Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, and Nejire Hado. These three stand alone as the most powerful students at U.A. High, and earned the nickname ‘The Big 3″ thanks to their abilities and performances. While Amajiki is shy and introverted, Togata is the exact opposite, full of optimism and inspiration. Somewhere in-between their two extreme personalities sits the kind, thoughtful, and popular Nejire Hado, who quickly became a fan-favorite after her introduction as part of Class 1-A’s Hero Work Students. While Nejire can sometimes be viewed as a bit of an “airhead” due to her almost constant sunny disposition, she is clever, quick-witted, and incredibly powerful, with her Wave Motion quirk giving her the ability to convert her own vitality into energy, and use it to create powerful spiral shockwaves that send enemies flying. Using this powerful ability does drain the hero though as it uses her own stamina, often leaving Hado with great exhaustion. While she can often be seen in her U.A. High School uniform, cosplayer ‘elaine.rose.cosplay‘ has shown off her take on the character in her hero outfit, complete with the blue bodysuit that Nejire wears into combat, with pale mint green markings and turquoise framing. Nejire’s blue hair falls down her back, complete with the bangs that sit on either side of her face, while her two spiraling horns of hair stick up high on her head, making this one of the most accurate Hado cosplays we’ve seen. View this post on Instagram Since releasing as an anime back in 2016, My Hero Academia has become a smash hit across the globe, with fans who prefer the English dub getting to watch it at the same time as their Japanese-favoring counterparts for Season 4. The fourth season of the show has now completed, leaving fans anxious for more. Unfortunately, there’s currently no word on when we’ll see the fifth season, with only the confirmation that it will take place for viewers to hold onto for the foreseeable future.

My Hero Academia cosplayer creates real-life quirk as Big 3’s Suneater – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer creates real-life quirk as Big 3’s Suneater nocturnal.virus, Instagram / Viz MediaTalented cosplayer ‘Nocturnal Virus’ has wowed My Hero Academia fans with her creative take on The Big Three’s ‘Suneater,’ bringing his food-based quirk to life with some unexpected props. While My Hero Academia boasts a slew of unique and memorable characters with equally original quirks, Suneater’s powers take the cake of odd abilities, with his ‘Manifest’ quirk able to transform his body based on the food he eats. With this trait in mind, Texas-based cosplayer ‘Nocturnal Virus’ whipped up her own version of the UA student, bringing his larger-than-life superpowers to life with the help of some animal props. As shown in the anime, Suneater regularly eats takoyaki (octopus balls) to gain immensely powerful tentacles, which come in handy during battles with a large number of villains. While Suneater has also been seen wielding a clam for hands, this cosplayer opted for a lobster claw, which she brought out in some stunning photos of her cosplay for the hero – even attaching tentacles to her fingers to bring the character’s power to life. That’s not all: Nocturnal Virus also collaborated with other fans to create hilarious TikToks in-character, perfectly capturing Suneater’s shy personality. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_ia7F_jOla/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link While she’s just now debuting the hero, her costume isn’t brand-new; in fact, Nocturnal Virus started making her cosplay for the UA student some time ago, and was finally able to complete the finished product thanks to the help of friend and fellow cosplayer “roxtus.cos.” “I started making SUNEATER FOREVER ago when I was reading the Manga and fell in love with him cuz, we’ll duh,” she wrote. “Anyway, I never had a colored version of him so I had a black vest piece and dark grey/black hair, and just none of the right colors.” (Nocturnal Virus has also cosplayed a number of other Heroes, including Uraraka Ochoco, as seen below.) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9KymTRHdtW/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Thanks to Nocturnal Virus’s creativity with props and Roxtus.Cos’s costuming abilities, one of My Hero Academia’s most powerful students was brought to life in a charming and hilarious way in spite of his challenging quirk. My Hero Academia season four wrapped up in April, and season five has since been confirmed by Funimation — but no release date for the anime has yet to be revealed at the time of writing.

My Hero Academia is an immensely popular anime based on an equally popular manga. It has enormous potential for cosplayers, due to the wide range of characters who each have their own unique personalities, and powers called ‘Quirks.’ Momo Yaoyorozu is one such character who has a Quirk called creation, giving her the ability to produce non-living objects from her own skin. Besides her classic school uniform, she has an equally unique hero outfit that’s both cool and functional. Danielle DeNicola is a cosplayer with over 600,000 followers on Instagram, who emulates looks from a variety of sources including Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy, and of course My Hero Academia. In her stunning photos, she opted to replicate Momo’s hero look in a form-fitting red and white leotard, the zip in the center of the torso providing a functional and detail orientated addition to the original. Her short beige skirt perfectly mimics Momo’s silhouette, in a shade that perfectly compliments the rest of her look. Her skin tone looks almost animated, illuminated perfectly under the bright blue sky in the background. https://www.instagram.com/p/CE-bHNEJ0Ew/ And of course, Danielle is wearing the classic red boots that cover her calves, tying in the bright reds and sharp whites of the leotard. This is topped off with dark black hair tied into a spiky ponytail just like Momo. People in the comments were loving it, user shell_on_a_trail saying “it feels like a CGI render but I know you’re real,” and gotopaka calling it “awesome and beautiful.” The stunning look has already racked up 14,000 likes on Instagram, as well as another 7000 on Twitter. My Hero Academia cosplayer charges into battle as Momo Yaoyorozu – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer charges into battle as Momo Yaoyorozu Instagram/msjaypril/FunimationCosplayer ‘Jane April Fools’ crafted a stunning outfit for her take on My Hero Academia’s Momo Yaoyorozu. In a series of photos, the California-based model showed off how her hero costume evolved from Anime Expo 2019 to February 2020. Seen in her earlier pictures, Jane admitted she still had some work to do in order to tune the outfit. While she had Momo’s general look down, she still needed to get her hair and belts modified to fully realize the character. https://www.instagram.com/p/B3ab7MbDVlp/ “I’m just going to call this ‘Fitness Momo’ until I finish her,” she captioned one of her photos. It was a good fit, as the outfit looked more like something the character would wear to the gym than in actual combat. By the time Anime Los Angeles rolled around, the cosplayer had completed much more of the outfit, crafting Momo’s utility belt and chest clasp. Additionally, she now had a staff at her disposal. In a video posted to Instagram, Jane twirled her weapon and posed. In the anime, Momo is skilled at bojutsu, which is a staff-based martial art. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7NOOpADLYe/ Her newest photo, however, is probably her best yet. The outfit looks just about complete with the belts, bo staff and hair perfectly matching the hero’s iconic design. Fans were certainly impressed with the end result. One even replied that she was, “the best Momo out there.” In addition to her Momo cosplay, Jane has also dressed up as DC Comics’ Harley Quinn from the ‘Suicide Squad’ and ‘Birds of Prey’ movies. She’s also cosplayed as Super Girl, Pokemon’s Officer Jenny, Bulma from Dragon Ball and Link from The Legend of Zelda. https://www.instagram.com/p/B8aPqGbjNBt/ Amusingly, in her Bulma cosplay, she even managed to turn her dog into Vegeta. Now that’s some dedication! https://www.instagram.com/p/B2pvWFeD2Pz/ With so many characters under her belt, it’s anyone’s guess who the model will be cosplaying as next.

My Hero Academia cosplayer camouflages herself as picture-perfect Froppy Viz Media / Instagram: @janevindomFroppy is an incredibly popular hero in My Hero Academia, but although she’s loved and adored by many, one cosplayer has taken it to the next level with a flawless cosplay.[jwplayer 7oUVaTrP] Tsyu Asui, better known as Froppy due to her amazing and versatile frog quirk, is a fan-favorite in My Hero Academia. She’s smart, strong, and can do anything a frog can do. Naturally, that makes her the perfect hero in missions that involve water and deep-diving. However, although her abilities are awesome, fans love her personality more than anything else. Froppy is honest and sincere, which makes her a little blunt at times, but in a good way. Froppy is also cool, calm, and collected in most situations. She follows the morals and principles that are most important to her. Recovery Girl described her as a “perfect pillar of emotional support.” It makes sense, considering she acts as a maternal figure in the class and is often the voice of reason. My Hero Academia cosplayer Jane Vindom wanted to show her favorite character some love. She slipped into an incredible Froppy cosplay, and it left thousands of followers on her Instagram speechless. “Hippity, hoppity your heart is now my property!” she said. “Froppy from BNHA cosplay! My Hero Academia cosplayer burns bright as fiery female Shoto Todoroki – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer burns bright as fiery female Shoto Todoroki Kiyekuu / Viz MediaShoto Todoroki is a popular choice among My Hero Academia cosplayers for many reasons, but one fan went above and beyond and managed to bring him to life with a female twist. My Hero Academia fans love that the show revolves around many incredible characters, even if the main focus is often on Izuku Midoriya. But while they’re all special in their own way, it’s hard to name one more universally loved than Shoto Todoroki. It’s not because he’s the youngest son of Enji Todoroki, better known as Endeavour, who is introduced as the second-highest ranked hero after All Might. Instead, it’s because he changed from someone who was cold and detached to a caring and kind classmate. Plus, the fact his quirk, Half-Cold Half-Hot, lets him control fire and ice makes him one of the coolest characters in the series. There’s something special about being able to control the elements, especially two at once. Interestingly, he also bears a striking resemblance to Prince Zuko from Avatar: The Last Airbender. The two of them both had to overcome personal hardship and have visible burn scars on their face. Kiyekuu is a popular cosplayer who set the internet on fire when she posted a picture of herself cosplaying Shoto Todoroki on Instagram. What sets it apart from the rest is the fact it’s a genderbend. “I am so proud with how my [Shoto Todoroki] genderbend cosplay came out,” she said. “This is from the anime My Hero Academia! Two genderbend cosplays within a week? Holy! I hope you guys are enjoying the new cosplays as much as I am.” View this post on Instagram The outfit itself is simple enough, but it still looks great. The true quality, however, lies in the hair and make-up. Kiyekuu absolutely nailed the shades of white and red in her hair as well as the brown and green in her eyes. Cosplayers are often graded on how elaborate the outfit is. But sometimes simpler can be better, and the true art lies in how closely the person resembles the character. If they’re able to overcome obstacles like a genderbend, then they deserve all the praise.

My Hero Academia cosplayer becomes Hearing Hero Kyoka Jiro – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer becomes Hearing Hero Kyoka Jiro Instagram: kayarogoyski / BonesA skilled Instagram cosplayer has perfectly recreated Kyoka Jiro, a.k.a. Hearing Hero: Earphone Jack from the anime My Hero Academia, embracing the music theme with some extra props. [jwplayer V7KFXiLn] My Hero Academia was first brought to screens back in 2016, and in the almost five years following, the support the show’s seen has been remarkable. The popular anime has garnered a huge fan base, with people loving the shows’ range of characters that each have their own individual Quirks. Quirks are the unique abilities each character has, and can often act as a basis for their aesthetic and personality. This has naturally provided plenty of inspiration for the cosplay community, who constantly impress fans of the show with the amount of accuracy and personality in their recreations of popular characters. Kaya Rogoyski was one cosplayer who did an incredible My Hero Academia look, recreating Kyoka Jiro. Jiro’s quirk is Earphone Jack, and as the name suggests, she has two headphone jacks that hang from her earlobes that she can control and use as weapons. Kaya’s hair emulates Jiro’s vibrant purple locks, hanging in a bob with longer sections at the front to frame the face, next to which you can see the iconic headphone jacks. She also has the small red triangles painted under her eyes, which are an interesting contrast with the bold purple contacts from TTDEYE. View this post on Instagram The salmon-pink top and leather jacket perfectly coordinate with each other, and combined with the fingerless white gloves have this cosplayer looking exactly like her anime counterpart. Kaya even noted in the description of the post that she had borrowed an electric guitar from her husband, and it definitely was the perfect way to complete the look, the stunning guitar looking great alongside the makeup and outfit. View this post on Instagram Commenters were absolutely loving this cosplayer’s take on Jiro, saying, “you look incredible, I love the guitar and the edit!” and, “Jiro is the real best girl, she’s so under-appreciated. You captured her perfectly in this cosplay!” The stunning cosplay turned out really well, and was definitely appreciated among fans of the show.

My Hero Academia cosplayer becomes a creature of the dark as Fumikage Tokoyami – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer becomes a creature of the dark as Fumikage Tokoyami Instagram: @ixtran / Viz Media / Wikimedia CommonsA dedicated cosplayer took up the challenge of transforming into Fumikage Tokoyami from My Hero Academia, which isn’t easy to do. However, they passed the test with flying colors. Fumikage Tokoyami is one of the most interesting characters in My Hero Academia because of his unique appearance. His head looks exactly like some kind of black bird, complete with a yellow beak and red eyes with black pupils. However, he’s also proven to be incredibly intelligent, strong, and composed. His quirk, Dark Shadow, allows him to manifest a sentient shadow monster that he can expand and contract at will. But it only lasts a limited amount of time and is impacted by bright lights. Fans of the show love him as a character. However, he’s not too popular in the cosplay community because it can be tough to come up with an excellent costume. But that didn’t stop Ixtran Cosplay, who saw it as an opportunity to make some magic and transform into him. The final product was so good, and it left fans stunned. His fans described it as everything from “amazing” to “badass.” View this post on Instagram Unlike other My Hero Academia characters with human-like qualities and simple hero costumes, Fumikage Tokoyami literally looks like a birdman. Ixtran used EVA Foam to re-create the feathers and head and matched the colors. The craftsmanship is second to none. From there, all he had to do was slip on some boots, pants, and a black robe, and the piece was complete. It’s absolutely stunning from head to toe, and he deserves all the praise.

Cosplayer suzuya_tk blew fans of the shows away on Instagram when she uploaded a photo series exhibiting her fantastic take on the wild character. Instead of opting for a more rabid depiction of Toga, this cosplayer chose to show a tamer side of the sinister character, adding hints of the villain’s morbidity. https://www.instagram.com/p/CF0BuDHjjPx/ Her hair looks exactly like the character’s, white-blond locks that are pulled back into two messy buns atop her head, with pin straight bangs and wavy sections that fall along the side of her face to frame it. She sports Toga’s classic school uniform, a cozy looking cream colored jumper which, when blood-free, gives this version of the villain a cuter look. My Hero Academia cosplayers perfectly recreate the Big 3 – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayers perfectly recreate the Big 3 BonesMy Hero Academia supporters have a long wait for next season of the popular anime, but to hold over eager fans, a trio of cosplayers recreated U.A. High School’s top students who make up the Big 3. The popular series is filled with unique heroes, each brimming with personalities that have won over countless fans. But My Hero Academia fans have been enthralled by the anime’s latest additions that everyone at U.A. are looking up to. The Big 3 consists of the top hero candidates at U.A., and while they definitely don’t look like anything special on the surface, they’re mastery of their individual Quirks makes them some of the most revered prospects in the series. To properly bring the Big 3 to life, cosplayers ‘Paul_Might,’ ‘pineapples_delight,’ and ‘manda_eevee’ suited up as Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, and Nejire Hado respectively, for an amazing group shot. Showing off the Mirio’s impeccable strength, Paul_Might can be seen lifting his fellow cosplayers while being dressed in the hero suit, reminiscent of the great All Might. 600Mirio, also known as Lemillion, has been expertly recreated with the number one million doned across his chest with a flowy red cape to boot. On his right bicep sits manda_eevee as Nejire Hado, who’s sporting the wide bubbly smile that the hero routinely sports Manda_eevee can be seen donning Nejire-chan’s long blue hair, fitted with her blue suit that features mint green markings throughout. Last but not least, pineapples_delight rounds out the fantastic group cosplay by mirroring Tamaki, better known in his hero form as Suneater. As opposed to her fellow cosplayers, pineapples_delight is rather expressionless, which perfectly manifests the hero’s somber personality that doesn’t really match up with the other members of the Big 3. While all three cosplayers represent their individual characters to the tee, their unique poses definitely elevate the effects of the designs by showing that extra-special bond the Big 3 share. Even though there have been many fantastic My Hero Academia outfits done in the past, bringing all three cosplays together like this makes this one of the most memorable to come out of the fanbase so far.

My Hero Academia cosplayer unleashes chaos as bloodthirsty Himiko Toga – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer unleashes chaos as bloodthirsty Himiko Toga Instagram: @sammyscosplay / Viz MediaSammyscosplay, a cosplayer with a love for My Hero Academia and its characters, embraced her inner villain by transforming into the adorable yet fearsome Himiko Toga. Himiko Toga has been a popular choice in the cosplay community for several years now. However, after playing a central role in the second half of My Hero Academia Season 5, her popularity has risen even more. Dubbed the My Villain Academia arc, it focused on the growth and development of some of the villains, including herself. It provided a glimpse into her tragic past, revealing the sequence of events that put her on the path she’s on. As a result of the extra screen time, Himiko Toga cosplays have been popping up left, right, and center on social media. But while each one is incredible in its own way, Sammyscosplay’s transformation is out of this world. Sammy perfectly captured everything from the hair, makeup, and the piped black face mask to the silver canisters around her shoulders and more. There’s even a spot of blood on the shoulder of her cardigan. “For me, this is my normal,” she said, referring to Toga’s catchphrase. “I wanted to bring back my baby since she had the most amazing episode ever last week! It gave me shivers!” View this post on Instagram It’s not Sammyscosplay’s first rodeo. My Hero Academia brings out villainous side as fiery Dabi with female twist – Dexerto
My Hero Academia brings out villainous side as fiery Dabi with female twist Instagram: Gothpixii / BonesMy Hero Academia fans are losing their minds after popular Instagram cosplayer Gothpixii unveiled her fiery female take on the anime’s evil League of Villains lieutenant Dabi, complete with his iconic skin stitching. There are few series — live-action or anime — as popular as My Hero Academia, with the superhero show storming into pop culture royalty since its 2016 release. Among the show’s most loved heroes and villains is Dabi, a mysterious member of the League of Villains. We won’t spoil his latest twists here (there are a few though, don’t worry) but his latest arcs in the manga have fired him into the upper echelons of the fandom’s popularity counts, by a long margin. With that popularity, of course, comes cosplays. The latest incredible take on the fiery villain comes from Gothpixii, who unveiled her female twist on the My Hero Academia antagonist on Reddit this month. My Hero Academia cosplayer becomes Dabi My Hero Academia fans are first introduced to Dabi in the Forest Training Camp Arc, where he stormed U.A. High’s training trip alongside Himiko Toga to kidnap Bakugo. He quickly became a popular recurring antagonist (though is a little overshadowed by Himiko, we must admit). The main reason was his calm, cool attitude, which clashed with his fiery quirk and decisiveness in both his major anime arcs. On top of that, his iconic stitching scars certainly make him stand out. Many of Gothpixii’s cosplays are heavy on the character’s facial features, and her Dabi costume was no different — the cosplayer got the villain’s iconic burn stitchings and jet black hair just right. His shining blue eyes matched perfectly too. Dabi cosplays are always tough because the villain’s main look revolves entirely around his noticeable burns, but Gothpixii added a black stitched jacket for flair too. My Hero Academia fans across the internet are losing their minds about the new Dabi cosplay. On Reddit, one wrote they “thought it was a painting,” while another simply wrote “Whooooaaaaaa!” in appreciation. Dabi wasn’t Gothpixii’s first My Hero Academia cosplay: two years ago she unveiled an incredible Shoto Todoroki costume that went viral in 2019.

My Hero Academia cosplayer goes Plus Ultra as female All Might Viz Media / Instagram: @nikki.lee.cosplayTop-tier cosplayer Nikki Lee went above and beyond with a magnificent take on My Hero Academia’s beloved Symbol of Peace, All Might, with a female twist. Toshinori Yagi, better known by his hero name All Might, is arguably the most emblematic character in My Hero Academia. Not only is the No. 1 Pro Hero and Symbol of Peace when the story begins, but he also serves as the mentor and predecessor to the series’ protagonist, Izuku Midoriya. His immense power and super-human strength are only rivaled by his indomitable spirit and heroic personality. And for that reason, he motivates cosplayers who love the show to let their inner heroes run wild. Nikki Lee, a cosplayer who has covered everything from X-Men’s Rogue to Marvel’s Elektra and another character from My Hero Academia, Midnight, is one of those people. My Hero Academia cosplayer declares “I am here!” as perfect All Might – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer declares “I am here!” as perfect All Might Instagram: Leon Chiro / FunimationMy Hero Academia character All Might embodies the positive spirit of the show. After all, he is the Symbol of Peace. Italian cosplayer Leon Chiro has brought that passion from U.A. High School to real life with an impressive cosplay of the hero-turned-teacher. Toshinori Yagi, better known by his hero name All Might, was once the world’s Symbol of Peace. A former number one pro hero, he is now a teacher at the U.A. High School, helping serve the show’s many protagonists (and antagonists, at times). However, he holds his successor Izuku Midoriya close to his heart, handing over the One For All quirk after retiring as the world’s greatest hero. It’s quite an inspirational story all things considered, and comes with a rather inspiring outfit to match. Decked out in a head-to-toe body suit that screams superhero, All Might is one hell of a posterboy for My Hero Academia. We’ve seen plenty of female cosplayers put their own spin on the muscleman, but Italian cosplayer Leon Chiro has gone for the straight and narrow approach in his scintillating All Might cosplay that is turning heads. He has pulled out the costumes a few times since debuting it, and his latest photoshoot takes inspiration from All Might charging up his One For All skill in the show. Everything about Leon’s cosplay is absolutely stunning though. Sure, the outfit is amazing — the skin tight blue, red, and white leotard looks stunning — but the make-up on his face to imitate the anime art style is off the charts. View this post on Instagram “I gotta say this is one of my favorite All Might photos of all time and today I really needed to remind myself to keep smiling, no matter what! Just like a true pillar,” he said on Instagram. If you’re looking for some cosplay inspiration and need positive encouragement, embodying a character like All Might and sticking by Leon’s words is a sure-fire way to smash out your next project.

Music sensation Elise Trouw gets adventurous with Lara Croft cosplay – Dexerto
Music sensation Elise Trouw gets adventurous with Lara Croft cosplay Singer and songwriter Elise Trouw turned some heads with a well-crafted cosplay honoring the Tomb Raider protagonist Lara Croft. On November 25, Redditor Yazort uploaded a photo of the singer at from the largest gathering of nerds on the planet – San Diego Comic-Con. As it turned out, however, the 20-year-old first debuted the costume back in 2017, two years after the franchise was rebooted with Rise of the Tomb Raider and one year before the film series was restarted with Alicia Vikander in place of Angelina Jolie. The cosplay itself is actually really well-done, yet still simplistic, given Lara is supposed to be a normal human being – at least in modern visual interpretations. With the outfit, Trouw wore a standard blue top, belted shorts, fingered gloves, and black boots with socks just barely visible. From a mile away, any gamer would be able to recognize the iconic female character. 2017 was an incredible year for the artist when she released her debut album Unraveling. In the time since she has continued to produce music and upload her songs to social media such as 2019 hit “Make Believe.” For Lara Croft, there is arguably no other female protagonist in gaming with as much popularity. The first game in the series, simply called “Tomb Raider” debuted in 1996 where it was released on the Sega Saturn, Sony PlayStation and MS-DOS. The game had players take control of Lara as they explored tombs, shot through waves of bad guys while unraveling a mystery of Atlantis. Read More: Incredible Apex Legends cosplays in November – Due to the game’s overwhelming success, it spawned multiple sequels and even films based on the game and its hero. The last game in the franchise, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, was released in 2018. The next installment of the film series, meanwhile, has a tentative release date of March 19, 2021.

Of its many characters, there is one in particular that is incredibly popular with fans and cosplayers alike, Mileena. She is a sai-wielding assassin that is often seen wearing a large face mask which her monstrous mouth, which covers most of her face with sharp teeth. However, she is still portrayed as one of the most beautiful characters in the series, with the mask hiding her monstrous features. This gives cosplayers flexibility with her, as they can choose to wear the mask or play the monstrous figure. Kan Stelar decided to go with the latter for her cosplay and showed just how impressive makeup can be as she recreated Mileena’s terrifying features. The makeup was absolutely incredible, transforming Kan’s into one of a monster with sharp teeth seemingly sticking out of her cheeks, matching her face with Mileena’s. It was incredibly detailed and blended in superbly well making it tough to tell that it wasn’t real. While the makeup was the most impressive part of the cosplay she didn’t stop there. Kan also pulled off an amazing Mileena outfit, matching the character’s iconic clothes incredibly well. There was one error, however, as the cosplayer was wearing red, while the Mortal Kombat character’s outfit is pink. Although, she explained in the comments that the costume was a gift, so it’s probably something that can be overlooked, especially as the makeup is so impressive. Many cosplayers have gone with the Mileena look before, but only a few have opted for the monstrous look. While most of those have done a great job, the incredibly high level on makeup in this one definitely puts it near the top of the list for Mileena cosplays.

Mortal Kombat fans stunned by horrifyingly perfect Mileena cosplay – Dexerto
Mortal Kombat fans stunned by horrifyingly perfect Mileena cosplay NetherRealmA Mortal Kombat fan has shared an impressively detailed cosplay of the series’ ravenous and terrifying Mileena. Mileena is one of Mortal Kombat‘s most recognizable characters, serving as a villain and Kombatant in various games since her debut. Based on her popularity, it’s no wonder fans would want to cosplay as her. However, her form-fitting outfits and that iconic demon mouth present quite the challenge. That’s why it’s all the more impressive when someone is able to pull off an accurate Mileena cosplay, such as this one that was recently shared on Reddit. Mileena cosplayer impresses with scarily accurate smile Reddit user silverberryfrog shared several pictures of their impressive Mileena look, which feature both the character’s distinct mouth as well as the mask she often wears to hide that horrific feature. The teeth are obviously the focal point of any maskless Mileena look, but the rest of the outfit is equally impressive. This particular cosplay is based on Mileena’s default appearance in Mortal Kombat 11, in which she appeared as a DLC character. silverberryfrog’s look is pretty spot on with its asymmetric cut, purple gloves, silver gauntlets, sharp nails, and more. The most significant difference between the cosplay and the actual design is the hair. While this particular Mileena look wears a bob with short bangs, the cosplayer chose a wig with slightly longer hair and longer bangs. This was an intentional change, as silverberryfrog mentions in a comment that “I decided the little baby bangs did not translate well to my face.” Fortunately, the cosplayer’s efforts did not go unappreciated. “Those teeth are genuinely terrifying and I mean that in the best way possible lol,” said one Reddit user. Given Mileena’s canon appearance, that’s a pretty big compliment. Others praised the cosplayer’s attention to detail, particularly Mileena’s sashes and gauntlets. While the recently released Mortal Kombat 1 has proven controversial due to its pervasive microtransactions, a messy Nintendo Switch port, and more, fan works like this show that the Mortal Kombat fanbase is still going strong.

Mortal Kombat 11 cosplayers release amazing designs to celebrate new game skdr_m / Bethany MaddockMortal Kombat cosplayers are showing up in full force to celebrate the highly anticipated release for the next iteration of the franchise. NetherRealm Studios released their eleventh main entry of their legendary franchise on April 23, and fans have since been putting fabrics to the grindstone that’s producing stunning cosplays from a myriad of characters. The studio is going to start covering up their characters in Mortal Kombat 11, and while that may be controversial for longtime fans of the franchise it also means that cosplayers are going to have a lot more articles of clothing to replicate. Jaw-dropping ‘Kosplays’ for the new game Cosplayer and body painter Laura ‘SleepyLaura’ went through a complete transformation to give her rendition of Jade. Laura is cosplaying as Jade’s revenant iteration which if anything makes the attention to detail that more impressive since she even painted on all the intricate minutiae that ties the design together. Then there’s cosplayer Alicia Marie who showed off her take on Kitana complete with whitened eyes to give her revenant form a bit more authentic creepiness. A candid shot of her complete cosplay shows beautifully designed steel fans along with royalty headdress suited for the Khan. Cosplayer Isabelle ‘Haute Cosplay’ Scott geared up for the release of Mortal Kombat 11 with a sheik take at the Outworld resident, Skarlet. Scott looked incredibly well prepared to take on any kombatant that comes her way as she posed with knife in hand. With some of the best use of splattered blood, cosplayer Bethany Maddock made an impressive genderent Scorpion design that includes multiple weapons, chains and a detailed face mask. The cosplayer made the stunning outfit because she was a Mortal Kombat Kollective ambassador for this year’s game release. With Monster Hunter Rise being one of the best entries in the series, everyone is jumping back in for some more adventures. Before tackling the in-game challenge, kamuicosplay decided to make a real Nergigante set and the results are staggering. Model’s impressive Zero Suit Samus cosplay will leave you paralyzed – Dexerto
Model’s impressive Zero Suit Samus cosplay will leave you paralyzed Cosplay model Ri Care has unveiled a brand new costume based on Zero Suit Samus from Nintendo’s Metroid series that will blow your mind. In a preview on Reddit, Ri Care cosplay posted a photo of the amazing outfit even equipped with the Paralyzer weapon. Everything from the iconic blue shine, bits of armor and heels are on full display. Nothing about the character’s iconic design seems out of place. “Gun, armour and shoes crafted by me,” she wrote in a reply to the thread. Surprisingly, the model even claimed it only took her a few hours to make the props. “Crafted her gun and bits of armour/shoes in only a few hours,” she said on Patreon. In a post on Twitter, she detailed how the suit was made by fellow cosplayer Brandon Gilbert and The RPC Studio while the blonde hair came courtesy of Arda Wigs. “Now I shall finally tell the tale of my first battle here… My so-called Zero Mission.”” FIRST SAMUS SHOTS! :cupid: Full set: https://t.co/SK0emZH9xo :blue_heart: ♡ ♡ ♡ Photo by @CassiePhotog Suit by @brandonogilbert & @therpcstudio Wig from @ArdaWigs @ArdaWigsCanada Props by me! pic.twitter.com/mDiSDxj4AZ— :cherry_blossom: Ri :cherry_blossom::bow_and_arrow: (@ri_care) November 6, 2019 What is the Zero Suit? Samus is a bounty hunter from the Metroid universe. While her traditional Power Suit armor packs a punch with advanced weaponry and durability, the Zero Suit leaves a lot less to the imagination and allows for more advanced movements. The iconic suit first appeared in Metroid: Zero Mission on the Gameboy Advance, a remake of the first-ever Metroid game back on the NES. After escaping from the planet Zebes, Samus is shot down by space pirates and stripped of her power suit. Zero Suit Samus is a unique fighter in the Super Smash Bros series, first appearing in Brawl back on the Nintendo Wii, though she only appeared after Samus used her Final Smash in that title, or by holding the L/R button while selecting Samus. She debuted in Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS as an individual fighter with a Final Smash of her own. The suit and character in Smash was a major reason why Metroid grew in popularity, especially given the fighter’s place in the meta back with Smash 4 on the Wii U. Notably, it was ZSS legend Nairoby ‘Nairo’ Quezada who ended Gonzalo ‘ZeRo’ Barrios 56 tournament win streak with the fighter at MLG Vegas 2015. Unfortunately for anyone wanting to check out Zero Suit Samus in a new game, you’re going to have to wait awhile. While Metroid Prime 4 was announced at E3 2017 and was being developed by Bandai Namco, it was revealed in January 2019 that development had been restarted with Retro Studios. Still, until the new game is released, at least there will be plenty of cosplay to check out as Ri Care’s.

Model’s Cheerleader Mercy cosplay needs to be a future Overwatch skin – Dexerto
Model’s Cheerleader Mercy cosplay needs to be a future Overwatch skin A cosplay model created her own Overwatch skin of sorts by transforming one of the game’s most popular supports into a cheerleader. The outfit consists of Mercy wearing a blue and white midriff with a matching skirt. Her hands are covered by sparkly pom-poms and knee-high socks round out the ensemble. The word “Angels” is written on her shirt, either as a reference to a sports team within the Overwatch universe or to just play up the fact that the hero is designed to be an angel of sorts. Angelic wings are also found on the outfit right after the word “Angels” on her shirt and on the skirt just for a nice bit of additional attention to detail. Unfortunately, the cosplay doesn’t include Mercy’s staff or gun which would probably look fantastic with the soft blue and white coloring. “Mercy has been my fav Overwatch char since the day the game came out and I would only play her,” Eroticneko wrote on her Instagram. While this cosplay would be perfect for a new Overwatch skin, it would most likely have been released as part of the Halloween event, which sadly ended in November. Another possible time of year where Blizzard could release the skin would be the Anniversary event, where there is no particular theme. It would also make for a fine addition to the Summer Games event because the skin is still sport-themed. Of course, for those looking for an actual skin, Mercy’s Recall challenge started on November 13. Players who win nine matches will be able to unlock a brand new time-exclusive Dr Ziegler skin plus a bunch of cosmetics along the way. The Recall Challenge ends on December 2, 2019. Hopefully, once it’s completed Blizzard can get to work creating a Mercy cheerleader skin for the game too. Or, at the very least, have it in time for Overwatch 2.

Chilling Misa Amane cosplay will leave Death Note fans writing names – Dexerto
Chilling Misa Amane cosplay will leave Death Note fans writing names Madhouse / Instagram: blood.ravenCosplayer ‘Bloodraven’ has stunned fans with an amazing take on Death Note’s protagonist Misa Amane. My Hero Academia cosplayer jumps into the fray as brilliant Froppy – Dexerto
My Hero Academia cosplayer jumps into the fray as brilliant Froppy Viz Media / Instagram: TaiMun_cosTsuyu Asui, better known as Froppy, is a fan-favorite in My Hero Academia. There are countless cosplays of the Class 1-A student, and this marvelous one by ‘TaiMun’ is a stunning addition to the collection worthy of being highlighted. Yes, it’s no secret that we’ve covered a few Froppy cosplays before. Why would we not? Tsuyu Asui is one of the most beloved characters in My Hero Academia, and her frog hero costume wins fans’ hearts over the moment she puts it on. Alongside other MHA stalwarts like Deku and Bakugo, Froppy is right up there with one of the most cosplayed characters in anime, period. It makes it harder to stick out from the crowd when you do decide to dress up as Froppy. Everyone knows what to expect — the green jumpsuit, the long green hair with a slight fringe, and the makeup. However, despite this, Italian cosplayer ‘TaiMun‘ has managed to set herself apart from the rest with a very well executed Froppy design. All the staples are there: jumpsuit, hair, makeup, and more. However, it’s just executed very well. From the posing, to how crisp everything looks, it’s a perfect fit for TaiMun. It also wouldn’t be a Froppy cosplay without a little poke of the tongue. It may not be as long as Froppy’s humongous 20-meter tongue, but the cute poke does the trick. View this post on Instagram All the cosplay really needs is a set of Froppy’s goggles. However, with cons still in the distant future, TaiMun has some time to make a set of her own if she does want to take it out in public and become the real deal! It’s a wonderful addition to the stunning Froppy cosplays out there already, and will definitely sit near the top of the pack.

MHA cosplayer sets hearts on fire with female Dabi creation – Dexerto
MHA cosplayer sets hearts on fire with female Dabi creation bloodraven, Instagram / Bandai Namco Ent.With My Hero Academia well into its fourth season, fans are more excited than ever for further hijinks from their favorite heroes — but one creative cosplayer is giving some love to a villain, instead. While My Hero Academia boasts a slew of memorable characters, its villains often steal the spotlight, with baddies like Himiko Toga and Shigaraki Tomura becoming fan favorites over the series’ lifetime. However, one villain in particular boasts a swagger unlike any other: Dabi, a man with a patchwork body and a penchant for creating high-intensity flames that ruined Class 1A’s summer training program in the show’s third season. Although Dabi is a male, one cosplayer decided to put a unique twist on the character by gender-bending the villain — and the results are as hot as his flames! Cosplayer ‘BloodRaven’ put her talents to the test to create a female version of the League of Villains member, making sure to stay faithful to his patchwork face, blue eyes, and leather jacket. Using special effects, BloodRaven successfully replicated the staples that hold together Dabi’s face, which, along with the use of bodypaint and makeup, make for an impressively realistic take on the villain’s unique appearance. Where Dabi boasts a short crop of black hair, this cosplayer made his locs a bit longer, yet still manages to keep his “devil-may-care” attitude with its styling and her dramatic posing skills. Combined with the efforts of her photographer, ‘Rudyphototaker,’ BloodRaven truly embodies Dabi’s chaotic-yet-contained energy — and we’re so here for it. BloodRaven isn’t the only cosplayer to put a female spin on the character, either; creator ‘Remy Domino’ likewise provided a similar take on the villain, opting for an 80’s style mussy mullet and even creating her own flames as props. Having completed the School Festival episodes, My Hero Academia now looks toward reshuffling the series’ top-ranked heroes as the fourth season continues. With so many gender-bent characters from the anime, we wonder what’s next from creative fans — perhaps a female Gentle Villain? We’ll let the creatives decide!

Metroid cosplayer stuns everyone as “holiday edition” Zero Suit Samus – Dexerto
Metroid cosplayer stuns everyone as “holiday edition” Zero Suit Samus Nintendo/i_chios/InstagramPopular cosplayer ‘i_chios’ has the perfect Zero Suit Samus cosplay for anyone who is in dire need of a much-needed vacation. Samus Aran is one of Nintendo’s biggest characters and one of its most well-known female protagonists, right up there with Princess Zelda and Peach. While her armored, space bounty hunter attire may not be the best to wear on a trip to the beach, cosplayer i_chios revamped the character’s Zero Suit look into a tasteful swimsuit that could very well be a costume in Smash Bros. In a series of photos taken in Thailand, the model poses and stuns fans, showing off her unique take on the character. https://www.instagram.com/p/B-xJ0uAjOjJ/ The main thing to focus on head-wise is her hair, which undoubtedly matches that of ZSS’s, with flowing blonde locks and even the red tie. “We all need strength to withstand thesе hard times and not to be stressed,” she captioned a photo of her cosplay, which she dubbed Samus Aran “holiday edition.” Many fans were impressed with her take on the iconic hero, writing encouraging messages such as “This photo is so good it almost looks like it’s not real.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CBBX3TNjQ4v/ This swimsuit version of Samus isn’t the only cosplay i_chios did of her either, having also designed a brilliant take on the standard Zero Suit as well. The original design for the Zero Suit first debuted in Metroid: Zero Mission on the Gameboy Advance, which was a remake of the first Metroid game on the NES. After escaping from Zebes, space pirates shoot down Samus and strip her of the power suit. That said, ZSS has become much more popular thanks to her meta viability in Super Smash Bros, having this version of Samus first appear in Brawl. https://www.instagram.com/p/BvKQVxHATNT/ Aside from Nintendo characters, chios has also cosplayed as 2B from Nier, Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft and Overwatch’s Meka-piloting hero, D.va. On the anime and superhero front, her collection grows even more impressive. She has designed outfits to become Revy from Black Lagoon, Harley Quinn, Boba Fett, Darth Vader and more. We can’t wait to see what other designs i_chios comes up in 2021, especially if conventions make a return.

Metroid cosplayer rolls out all the firepower with insane Samus outfit – Dexerto
Metroid cosplayer rolls out all the firepower with insane Samus outfit emmycosplayss/NintendoOne Metroid fan has shared their awesome new Samus cosplay, and it’s safe to say it’s packing just as much firepower as the intergalactic bounty hunter herself. We may have gone a couple of years without a new Metroid game at this point, but the series’ protagonist Samus Aran is still one of Nintendo fans’ favorite characters. She’s also one of the original stars of the Super Smash Bros series, and as of Ultimate, one of the few besides Mario that has two different playable characters: Regular Samus and Zero Suit Samus. Twitch streamer and cosplayer ‘emmycosplays‘ recently rolled out her own take on the bounty hunter that would look right at home blasting away any unfortunate alien foe that gets in the way. At least she still has the deadly arm cannon ready to roll and make whoever or whatever took that chunk of her suit severely regret their decision. Emmy said the costume is made completely out of EVA foam, with the battle marks added with paint and some strategic sanding and cutting. Underneath the armor, appropriately enough, she’s rocking the Zero Suit, because what else would Samus wear? View this post on Instagram It’s finally done!!! Here’s Samus!! Mercy and Ashe are ready for OWL Finals with stunning Seoul cosplays – Dexerto
Mercy and Ashe are ready for OWL Finals with stunning Seoul cosplays Blizzard Entertainment/@spcatsTASHAA pair of Seoul Dynasty fans have pulled off awesome cosplays of Mercy and Ashe in their team’s colors to celebrate 2020’s Overwatch League Grand Finals run. [jwplayer RGKcVLeK] The season finale is the biggest weekend of the year for Overwatch esports, and even though there are no in-person events for the Finals in 2020, there are still plenty of fans watching the action and supporting their favorite teams. This includes Tasha and Doremi, who in addition to being diehard Dynasty fans, can also put together a mean Overwatch cosplay. For instance, to celebrate Seoul’s Grand Finals appearance, the pair pulled out their Ashe and Mercy creations, which are spot on and appropriately decked out in Seoul’s black and gold. (@spcatsTASHA) October 8, 2020 Tasha certainly does Ashe justice with the hero’s trademark white hair and her trusty Viper Rifle at her side. The jacket and every other part of the cosplay even match the Dynasty’s in-game skin for her. There are countless Overwatch cosplays out there, but OWL-specific ones seem to be a bit rarer especially considering there have been no live events for the league at all this year. Doremi and Tasha, who call their duo spiralcats, have been a fixture in the Korean Overwatch esports scene for some time, appearing at multiple events rocking Dynasty-branded skins for a variety of heroes. #광고 가자!! 서울 다이너스티!!!! 이기자!!!#OWL2020 #overwatch #오버워치 #SeoulDynasty #서울다이너스티 #TigerNation #spiralcats #스파이럴캣츠 #cosplay #타샤 #tasha #도레미 #doremi pic.twitter.com/twmMElneri — [spiralcats]도레미 (@SpcatsDoremi) October 8, 2020 Seoul is certainly in a position to make a run for the title, however, they’ll have to make it past the San Francisco Shock, who seem to be in a dominant form already. San Fran already took out the Dynasty earlier in the playoffs and will have to do so again to repeat their 2019 championship on Oct 10. The boys in black and gold will need all the energy their fans can send to them to pull off the upset and dethrone San Francisco to become the OWL champions, something the team hasn’t been able to achieve yet.

Megan Thee Stallion becomes Mortal Kombat’s Mileena with epic cosplay – Dexerto
Megan Thee Stallion becomes Mortal Kombat’s Mileena with epic cosplay Twitter: Megan Thee Stallion / NetherRealmPopular musician, Megan Thee Stallion, got her game on as Mileena from Mortal Kombat 11 on November 4. Here’s how she brings her character to life in a unique way. [jwplayer MDxzN19r] Gaming gets more and more popular every day, and we are even starting to see celebrities getting into games. Megan Thee Stallion, who was recently on the hit single WAP with Cardi B, put her game face on with an epic cosplay of Mileena from the Mortal Kombat franchise. Here’s a look at the cosplay and how the popular rapper brings it to life. Megan Thee Stallion makes a good Mileena Mileena is one of the oldest Mortal Kombat characters, dating all the way back to the 90’s when the franchise was still young. She normally wears a mask, but behind that, she has some vicious fangs. For Megan Thee Stallions cosplay, she decided not to go with the mask and instead go with the fangs. She does an excellent job with the mouth, making it look as vicious as possible in the form of a creepy video where she enters through a thick layer of fog. She also dons Mileena’s signature black and purple skin-tight outfit. There is great attention to detail here as she does a good job getting the color scheme and pattern right. View this post on Instagram Lastly, she holds Mileena’s trident-like weapons that she uses to fight with. The character traditionally holds these weapons under her sleeves. Megan Thee Stallion does the same and makes them look good. If you aren’t familiar with Megan’s work, she is a rapper. As mentioned, she recently appeared on Cardi B’s controversial hit song, WAP, that made it to number one on Billboard Hot 100. She also has her own album “Suga” that came out in August. It appears that the rapper is also a gamer who enjoys Mortal Kombat. MK 11 is still among the most popular fighting games along with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Street Fighter 5. Given how impressive this cosplay is, we can hope to see more cosplays in the future from Megan, and other celebrities who enjoy gaming.
