  • Meg Turney has perfect response to Rainbow 6 Caveira cosplay criticism – Dexerto

Meg Turney has perfect response to Rainbow 6 Caveira cosplay criticism Instagram: @megturney / UbisoftPopular cosplayer Meg Turney hilariously hit back at criticism over her Rainbow 6 Caveira costume. The personality had the best response to a fan’s over-analyzing comment on her work. Cosplaying isn’t just a hobby for many creators – it’s an art form in itself. Talented artists spend endless hours bringing our favorite film and game characters to life with their incredible costumes. However, despite all the hard work, some viewers can be a little too critical about an outfit not being absolutely perfect. And when this happened to popular cosplayer Meg Turney, she had the perfect response. https://www.instagram.com/p/CC1ETl8nRfq/ Meg Turney’s perfect response to cosplay critic On July 19, the popular cosplayer re-posted her insanely accurate 2019 costume of Rainbow Six Siege Operator ‘Caveira’ to Instagram. However, one viewer critiqued the costume for not having the exact specific gun model in the game. “Really well done. However, you selected the wrong pistol to recreate caveira’s Lusion. It appears that you used a colt 1911, when her gun is a Beretta M92f. Apart from that, your costume is really well made,” the fan told her. Turney replied to the user and said, “oh my actual f**k it’s a costume for fun times lol.” The exchange went viral after R6 EU League commentator ‘Geo’ tweeted out a screenshot of it, which included Turney’s response to the critique. “This comment and response on Meg Turney’s Instagram f**king killed me,” she said. This comment and response on @megturney’s Instagram fucking killed me pic.twitter.com/0nStWWjy15 — Geo (@geometric) July 19, 2020 The popular cosplayer hilariously followed up Geo’s post, and explained, “I didn’t have the heart to tell him that I actually just got whatever airsoft pistol was the cheapest on Amazon and also came with a little plastic silencer lol.” After some viewers took issue with her response, the personality made a post on her social media, and clarified that she was just having “fun” with the critique, and explained that she has no issue with people critiquing her work. “…Y’all ain’t responsible enough for me to have fun with a critique. Guys, I’ve been on the Internet for 87 damn years – I know s**t gets critiqued. As a content creator, I’ve chosen to have fun with that stuff for my own sanity – it’s not that serious,” she wrote. Various cosplayers on social media reacted to the comment, and revealed how frustrating it can be to work countless hours on a cosplay, only for someone to nitpick one specific thing. However, Turney reiterated that she was just having “fun” with her response. Criticisms aside, the cosplay star’s take on the Rainbow 6 operator is insanely detailed. Photographer atwes‘s incredible work brings the character to life. We liked the costume so much, it was on our top 10 cosplays of 2019.

  • Meet Cinderys – the Parisian cosplay queen behind that stunning WoW Shadowlands’ Sylvanas – Dexerto

Meet Cinderys – the Parisian cosplay queen behind that stunning WoW Shadowlands’ Sylvanas Cinderys_Art, DexertoFrench cosplayer Cinderys has spent years honing her craft, creating some of the most spectacular World of Warcraft, Diablo and League of Legends cosplays we’ve ever seen. Few artists have seen a triumphant rise in popularity in the same vein of Parisian cosplayer, Cinderys. Blasting onto the cosplay scene all the way back in 2014, her spectacular outfits have left us all awestruck. We’ve seen her take to World of Warcraft’s Shadowlands as a stunning version of notorious Forsaken Banshee, Sylvanas, as well as causing chaos on Summoner’s Rift as armor-clad League of Legends support, Leona. In an exclusive interview with Dexerto, the queen of cosplay delved into all things cosplay and WoW Shadowlands, whilst giving us a snapshot into what the future holds. Cinderys: Origins Beginning her gaming career as a rebellious eight-year-old, Cinderys’ first ever experience with Blizzard titles was Warcraft 3. “It’s a PEGI 12, but I was a pretty clever child. So, knowing my mother didn’t want me playing games beyond my age, I hid the PEGI 12 on the box in the shop. “”Look at him, he’s Arthas, he’s the Lich King, and I love him! I’m in love, mom!’” she recalls with a giggle. “And she said yes!” It’s safe to say that neither her mother or young Cinderys herself could have known the creative talent this purchase would unleash on the world. It all began in 2013. “I went to a convention and I saw people doing cosplay,” she told Dexerto. “I was like ‘oh gosh, that looks so cool!’ I wanted to be part of that. So I remember I bought some cat ears just to be in the mood of the convention and be a bit in cosplay too!” A year later, the iconic League of Legends “Get Jinxed” cinematic dropped for the wild yet wonderful ADC, and Cinderys knew that was her moment. “I saw Jinx and I was like ‘I’ll go back to that convention with a real costume.’ By doing this cosplay I discovered that I like to do huge armor parts, weapons and stuff like that – not the sewing! I want to be a badass crazy lady; not just a cute girl in a dress!” What is Cinderys favorite ever cosplay? Asking a cosplayer their favorite ever design is a difficult question, but Cinderys beautifully explains how different cosplays can be perfect for different events. “When you do photoshooting, it’s near your home, it’s in a comfortable situation, you only wear the costume for a few hours. At conventions it’s so different.” Referring to her award-winning Diablo costume, she recalls, “I did Blizzcon, I won Blizzcon with that costume, it was so awesome to wear that costume because of the convention – but not the costume itself. The costume was such a pain!” “To answer this question I’d say my Sylvanas. All of them because they are a bit more comfortable. I enjoyed this costume during conventions, during photoshooting, also during some closed events.” With her Legion Sylvanas being her favorite of the pack, her World of Warcraft cosplays have stunned viewers across the globe. But, has there ever been a cosplay that got the best of her? The one that got away Of all of her spectacular cosplays, there’s only one that never got finished. “There was one costume that was my nightmare, but I never finished it. You’ve never seen a picture of that costume, it does not exist at all! I guess I have a curse with some of my costumes.” Harkening back to her LoL days, she recalls “I wanted to do another costume from League of Legends, and I wanted to do Kayle with the huge wings! I was going to do that costume for a contest, but in France, it’s not only a catwalk. You have to do reels showing all different scenarios, all of the voice lines, as well as have to prepare all the props for the stage.” As the competition drew ever closer, things started to get more complex. “It was the last day before the contest, and at the last minute I had to choose whether to not sleep but finish my costume, or to sleep a few hours but go to the contest with missing props. To rush a costume, through all the work and all the pain, to be missing a prop and fail… I said no. It wasn’t worth it. “It broke my heart, it broke all my love of cosplay. All that money, all that work… But I can say today that I’m really strong. When people say ‘oh my cosplay is crap, I did my cosplay wrong, I failed’ – it’s okay to fail! I fail too! It’s fine, don’t worry!” Cinderys’ advice for budding cosplayers If that burst of inspiration didn’t want to make you jump into cosplay and strut your stuff, then Cinderys has some more advice for those who seek to dip their toes into the wonderful world of character impersonation. “Cosplay is really expensive, and I was a student,” she states. “Most of my money was going to pay for my studies and my tiny apartment. Aside from my studies I was working all of the holidays to get money to pay for everything. With the leftover money, I wasn’t buying clothes, or expensive shoes. I was buying stuff for my cosplay! “My friends were always saying ‘look at your bag,’ because when I was on the subway people were looking because it was a bunch of scrap. People looked at me with my bag and they told me it must be a ‘lucky bag’ because you’re still keeping it. I sacrificed everything for cosplay.” Despite her hilarious analogy, her message to new cosplayers is simple: “you’re doing it for yourself, if you like your costume that the most important thing.” A glimpse into Cinderys’ cosplay future As the WoW universe continues to expand, and Diablo IV lurks upon the horizon, Cinderys has plans to keep pushing her cosplays to new heights – literally. “Before global restrictions were put in place, I wanted to do all the contests. I want to be that girl who won all of the contests in the world! I will build all of the biggest costumes, I’ll ruin my health and it’ll be fine!” With Monster Hunter and Diablo IV cosplays already in the pipeline, her main focus is her “masterpiece.” While she can’t quite reveal exactly what it is yet, she notes that it’s “the biggest one” she’s ever created. Excited? We are too. Keep an eagle eye on her Instagram and Twitter for a snapshot of her future endeavors, but until then, tune into her Twitch for all of your cosplay needs!

  • Marvel’s Black Cat cosplayer claws enemies as Felicia Hardy – Dexerto

Marvel’s Black Cat cosplayer claws enemies as Felicia Hardy Marvel / Instagram: @tinechanA Marvel Black Cat cosplayer went viral on Instagram after transforming into Felicia Hardy. The talented artist brought the Spider-Man superhero to life with her stunning recreation. Originally making her debut in the 1979 issue of The Amazing Spider-Man, Marvel’s Black Cat has become one of the series’ most beloved characters. The cat burglar is so popular that Sony and Netflix have even had plans to give the master thief her own movie. Popular cosplayer Tine Marie Riis celebrated the iconic Marvel hero with her insanely accurate costume. The talented artist’s detailed portrayal looks so much like Felicia Hardy, it’s almost as if the villain has clawed her way out of the comics. Felicia Hardy brought to life with stunning Black Cat cosplay Cosplayer Tine Marie Riis brought the Marvel protagonist to life in a series of pictures on Instagram. In an August 16th post, the artist posed in the character’s iconic black leather bodysuit. Her faithful recreation of the uniform even depicted the white fur that runs across the edge of her neckline. Tinechan creatively captured the dual nature of Felicia Hardy’s personality and her alter ego, Black Cat, by pairing off two photos side by side. The artist depicted the heroine with and without her mask, while mirroring the Spider-Man villain’s mysterious personality. Speaking to Dexerto, Tine explained that her cosplay had been years in the making as she was a fan of the Marvel heroine since her childhood. “I have always been fascinated by Black Cat ever since I was little. Her mysterious confident personality drew me to her, not to mention she’s badass!” View this post on Instagram The cosplayer gave us a full view of her Black Cat recreation in a second selfie shot. Just like her bodysuit, her depiction of Hardy’s accessories, such as her boots, is full of details. View this post on Instagram As for what’s next for the cosplayer, Tine Marie Riis told us that her next project is an “updated version of [her] K/DA Popstars Kai’sa from League of Legends.” She is also working on a tutorial for creating Pokemon Gym Leader Misty’s hair – which sounds pretty epic! Those interested in the rest of her cosplays should check out her Instagram here. Tinechan has depicted characters from many popular series such as My Hero Academia and The Legend of Zelda.

  • Mario’s ready for galaxy travel with awesome Mandalorian mash-up cosplay – Dexerto

Mario’s ready for galaxy travel with awesome Mandalorian mash-up cosplay With the Star Wars live-action show The Mandalorian all the rage, one Nintendo fan decided to crossover his love of Mario with the hit Disney+ program in a unique cosplay. Taking to Reddit, cosplayer Lord_Nuke posted a photo of his unique mash-up along with the caption “It’s a me, Mandalorio!” playing tribute to the Nintendo mascot’s catchphrase. The incredible outfit merges both the bounty hunter look made famous by characters such as Boba Fett with the Mushroom Kingdom’s hero Mario. The helmet is red with the iconic “M” normally found on Mario’s hat placed dead center on the fusion’s helmet. Mushroom patches are sewn into the shoulder area, and the rest of the ensemble features numerous armor-plated sections while keeping it in-line with the color theme. If that wasn’t enough, the cosplayer also added a photo of a “small thermal detonator Bob-Omb” proving that even weapons from a galaxy far, far away can get the Nintendo treatment. Read More: Top 10 best Pokemon Sword & Shield cosplays – What’s more, is the outfit isn’t even in its final form. In the post’s comments, Lord_Nuke said he intends to work on some upgrades to the crossover. Of note, he listed finding a way to build a jetpack and a flame thrower. Mario himself already had a jetpack of sorts with F.L.U.D.D from Super Mario Sunshine, and he’s no stranger to playing with fire either, meaning these future additions would match the character combo nicely. “I’m still mentally workshopping the jetpack. Is it going to be a mando jetpack with a bullet bill for the missile, or is it going to be F.L.U.D.D themed and the bullet bills are on a leg bandoleer? Also, fire flower-themed flamethrower planned for the right wrist, and I’m thinking either piranha plant themed, or chain chomp themed grappling hook for left,” the cosplayer wrote. Read More: Cosplay streamer TheHaleyBaby hits out at Twitch over sexual content ban Lord_Nuke said he also wants to add some battle damage and weathering after each convention he attends with the costume. It will be amazing to see what it all looks like once all the upgrades have been crafted. The Mandalorian is currently the hottest show on the new video service Disney+. The show follows the adventures of a bounty hunter after the events of Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi – a period yet to be explored in traditional franchise canon. The program, in its first season, has eight episodes, and work has already begun on a second season.

  • Mandalorian fan goes viral on TikTok after turning a thong into the perfect cosplay – Dexerto

Mandalorian fan goes viral on TikTok after turning a thong into the perfect cosplay Lucas Film/TikTok/rudy_willinghamA Star Wars fan’s low-budget Mandalorian Halloween costume is going viral on TikTok after the cosplayer used a thong of all things to complete the outfit. The Mandalorian has been one of the most successful Star Wars shows since Disney bought the franchise back in 2012 for over $4 billion. Since then, fans have been extremely disappointed in the sequel trilogy, but The Mandalorian has helped remedy a lot of the criticism. With the show’s Bounty Hunter protagonist, Din Djarin, being so popular and a third season of the series on the way, TikToker Rudy_Willingham decided to dress up as him for Halloween. However, not wanting to spend an arm and a leg on a costume, he instead improvised with an outlandish low-cost cosplay that involved a thong of all things. Needless to say, fans were loving it. Absurd Mandalorian cosplay goes viral on TikTok By using a small tin garbage can and putting a black thong over it, the TikToker was able to create something that looked quite similar to The Mandalorian’s helmet from the show. That’s not where the silliness ends, though. By taking a fruit and wrapping it in a cloth, he was able to create something that could pass for Baby Yoda – another of the series’ fan-favorite characters. To follow it up, the cosplayer equipped some tinfoil trays, attached them to his chest and legs and boom. He had himself a full Mandalorian cosplay in time for Halloween. Fans went crazy for it, viewing it over 4.5 million times. While some mocked the use of the thong, dubbing it the “Thongalorian,” others praised the simplicity of it all. “Low key, that’s actually smart,” one user wrote. “You sir, are a genius,” another commented. It just goes to show that sometimes a little creativity can go a long way – something that Rudy_Willingham definitely has quite a lot of.

  • Low-budget cosplayer amazes League of Legends fans – Dexerto

Low-budget cosplayer amazes League of Legends fans Rena_Angel1111 | TwitterSome cosplayers spend thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours on their cosplays. Rena creates League of Legends cosplays with everyday items and MS paint, and they look amazing. Cosplay is an incredibly fun way to represent your favorite characters, with the most dedicated cosplayers putting a great deal of effort into their creations. However, Rena_Angel is different. While he’s capable of creating high-quality cosplays, something he does here and there, Rena likes to create low-budget cosplays mainly based on League of Legends. A low budget certainly doesn’t mean low effort, however. Turning everyday objects into something amazing Not only does Rena pull off incredibly imaginative creations with everyday items, but he also shows the process for the entire thing. For instance, in this cosplay of Rell, a character from League of Legends, he covered himself in tin foil to become her steed and then photoshopped himself on top of it. His ingenuity with limited resources seemingly knows no bounds, and he already has dozens of creations on his page. These aren’t limited to just characters from the game, either. It’s hard to imagine anyone else that has cosplayed, for instance, a League of Legends ward. Rena’s cosplay inspiration knows no bounds. Where most people cosplay their favorite characters, Rena cosplays every part of the game. From item icons and spells to structures, he’ll make anything. However, there are a few of his creations that stand out from the rest as a true display of his skill in this very niche art form. Finding his best work Rena has a massive catalog of low-budget cosplays to work through. Through this vast selection, Rena has a few creations that really stand out as near 1 to 1 caricature of the subject he’s trying to replicate. This Bard cosplay has a lot going on, but the final result is strikingly similar to Bard’s original character design. While the mask and hair may be made out of plastic bags and tape, they’re an accurate representation of what is a fairly abstract character design. Rena really put his MS paint skills to the test for this Zed cosplay with some great results. It captures the atmosphere of the original surprisingly well, even if he’s perched on books under a flag flying cut-up garbage bags. Rena’s best work isn’t limited to characters, either. He’s got an eye for detail and can replicate seemingly small aspects of League of Legends like item icons. Some of his item cosplays are shockingly close to the in-game icons. His depiction of Edge of Night is almost 1 to 1 and isn’t all that easy to distinguish from the original icon. The world of cosplay is a vast one. And, while there’s something to be said for cosplays that people pour hundreds and hundreds of hours into, there’s also a place for something created in an afternoon. Rena’s imagination shows us that anyone can access cosplay and dress up as their favorite character, even if they don’t have much to work with.

Framed by a bookcase filled to bursting with tomes from yonder years, Oz can be seen in a set of killer black heels and matching suspenders. League of Legends cosplayer protects her allies as Star Guardian Soraka Instagram: lilya0o / Riot GamesLilya ‘Lilya0o’ Victorovna has impressed League of Legends fans once again with another stunning cosplay, and this time, she transformed into beloved champion Star Guardian Soraka. Soraka has been one of the top-tier support champions in League of Legends for a long time now, which isn’t surprising given her abilities. Not only does she passively run faster towards allies with low health, but she can also damage, slow, silence, and stun enemies while also healing herself and allies. Combined with her mesmerizing appearance and interesting backstory as a wandering celestial entity who sacrificed immortality to protect mortals from their violent impulses, Soraka is a massive hit among cosplayers, too. LilyaOo is no stranger in the cosplay world. With thousands of followers on Instagram, Twitch, and YouTube, her popularity is growing by the minute. And it’s all thanks to her magnificent cosplays, such as her dazzling take on K/DA Ahri. Now, she’s done it again as Star Guardian Soraka. The colorful piece has got it all, from the golden horn nestled on top of flowing wavy green hair to the white, gold, and emerald green dress matched with white leggings and gloves. View this post on Instagram LilyaOo’s cosplay was another home run in the eyes of her fans. They couldn’t contain their delight, describing it as “beautiful” — which is no surprise given how similar it looks to the character model in-game. • League of Legends cosplayer fights back Ruination as stunning Sentinel Diana – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer fights back Ruination as stunning Sentinel Diana Riot Games / Instagram: anaelic_The Sentinels of Light are joining the fight against the Ruination in League of Legends as Viego tries to bring an end to Runeterra. One cosplayer, Anaelic, has suited up as her favorite champion in Sentinel Diana, and it’s blown everyone away. The in-game lore event for League of Legends centered around the Sentinels of Light has put together a rag-tag group of heroes across Runeterra to try and fight back against Viego’s Ruination. Sentinel Diana is one you recruit after travelling through her home region of Targon, getting a transformation into the white, gold, and teal outfits of the Sentinels from her usual grey garment. Scottish cosplayer Anaelic has taken it to the next level though, bringing her favorite champion to real life — and getting the Riot tick of approval along the way. “Diana is my favourite league champ, and to be asked to cosplay her by Riot themselves is literally a dream come true! I’ve cosplayed her twice before and I screamed when I saw her new skin a few weeks ago,” she said on Twitter. Thank you @LoLUKN for giving me the amazing opportunity to work on Sentinel Diana! So happy to have worked on such a gorgeous skin of my fav league champ!💫 https://t.co/1tD5xY8XU0 — Amber 💜💫✨ (@AnaelicCosplay) July 28, 2021 Anaelic made the entire outfit, head to toe, from scratch. She made the bodysuit from scratch with a mix of fabrics, and even 3D printed parts of her skirt, giving it an extra dimension and that extra special touch. With all the dazzling weaponry and extras though, she admitted that making the gloves was one of her favorite parts — a simple touch, but oh so brilliant. She shared comparison images of the three cosplays, and said that while the Sentinel cosplay is “definitely constructed a lot better”, her Dark Valkyrie cosplay holds a special place in her heart as being her first major project with a hand-made worbla (plastic model) weapon. • Sneaky charms League of Legends fans with stunning new K/DA Ahri cosplay – Dexerto

Sneaky charms League of Legends fans with stunning new K/DA Ahri cosplay Riot GamesLadies and gentlemen, Zach ‘Sneaky’ Scuderi has done it again. The former Cloud9 League of Legends star has wowed his fans with yet another stunning cosplay, this time with a take on K/DA Ahri in her ALL OUT outfit. At this point, it’s just a matter of when, not if, we’re going to have our minds blown by yet another stunning — but confusing — Sneaky cosplay. He’s done plenty of his former League of Legends favorites — from his signature Caitlyn, to K/DA Akali, and even the base K/DA Ahri. Hell, he’s even just dressed up as a K/DA fan. However, his latest K/DA Ahri cosplay — using the nine-tailed fox’s ALL OUT costume — shows just how far he’s come in cosplaying over the last two years since retiring. Once again being helped out by his partner Esther Lynn, Sneaky pulls off the Vastaya’s popstar look perfectly, with a flashy blue dress reflecting with all the colors of the rainbow. Not only that, but he’s fashioned himself a pair of fox ears, and a stunning light-up tail that shimmers in all of the photos, taken by long-time photographer SquareNoodles. It can hardly be a Sneaky cosplay without the raucous reception it always gets. From the “you’re so hot brother” comments from Cloud9, to all the other reactions of his former teammates and rivals, Sneaky continues to blow everyone away with his transition into cosplaying. https://twitter.com/Sneaky/status/1408229249761243139 Who is next on Sneaky’s list? Well, no one knows yet. However, you can bet the cosplay king of League of Legends is going to blow everyone away again with an intricate design rivaling even the most seasoned experts (which, after all this time, you’d have to consider Sneaky one too).

  • League of Legends cosplayer spooks fans as terrifying Star Nemesis Fiddlesticks – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer spooks fans as terrifying Star Nemesis Fiddlesticks Riot GamesLeague of Legends cosplay group ‘Twiin Cosplay’ has spooked fans with an incredible rendition of Star Nemesis Fiddlesticks, boasting such immaculate attention to detail that the work of art is indistinguishable from the original character model. The Star Guardian event is taking over League of Legends, as well as all of Riot Games’ other instalments. In celebration of the festivities, the developers have promoted art from their fans surrounding the colorful cast of heroes. But one cosplay stands out among the rest — since cosplayers often choose to highlight the dazzling cast of Star Guardians rather than the gloomier antagonists. A cosplay of Star Nemesis Fiddlesticks, done by Twiin Cosplay, has shook the fandom. The level of detail and complexity of the cosplay make it easily mistaken as digital art rather than a costume set. Cosplaying is the artistic endeavor to mimic a fictional character in the form of a real life costume. And Twiin Cosplay managed to perfect the art — creating a frighteningly accurate depiction of Star Nemesis Fiddlesticks. Riot was so impressed with the costume that they even debuted the costume in their live action version of the Star Guardian music video. This isn’t the first time Twiin Cosplay received Riot’s recognition. In fact, they consistently impress Riot with their professional care to detail — often making appearances on Riot’s official Latan American League of Legends Twitter account. As developer League of Legends continues introducing new skins, players won’t stop finding ways to immortalize them.

  • LoL cosplayer ensnares fans with stunning Dragon Sorceress Zyra costume – Dexerto

LoL cosplayer ensnares fans with stunning Dragon Sorceress Zyra costume Instagram: inastes_tears / Riot GamesThere’s a few cosplays out there for Dragon Sorceress Zyra, but none can hold a candle to European cosplayer’s Inaste’s rendition. She’s gone for the full shebang, truly recreating her favourite League champion like it’s just off of Summoner’s Rift. Zyra might not stand out as one of the most popular League champions to cosplay. Ahri, Lux, Caitlyn, and others often stand at the top of the list. However, the Rise of the Thorns has a dedicated fanbase. That makes Inaste’s cosplay of Dragon Sorceress Zyra just that little bit more special. Not only did she put effort into one of the game’s more underappreciated characters, but she’s pulled off one of the best League cosplays we’ve ever seen. Inaste didn’t spare anything on her Zyra cosplay. Affectionately calling the Rise of the Thorns her “baby,” she was going to go all out when it came to recreating one of her most detailed skins in real life. There have been Dragon Sorceress Zyra cosplays before. Usually, they’ll focus on her outfit — with dragon scales from head-to-toe, big shoulder pads, and a rather detailed wig and headdress. https://www.instagram.com/p/CAlCYQAI9wG/ However, Inaste took it a step further. She nailed the colours and bodyart perfectly to make it look just like the real thing. And, to top things off, she even handcrafted and painted a set of dragon wings to accompany the cosplay. The entire costume was handmade from foam — wings included — and she also styled a wig specifically for the cosplay. You could swear it was Zyra straight out of her splash art and in-game model. Inaste wanted to do her baby justice, and she did just that. https://www.instagram.com/p/CAxGuGHIDQD/ All of Inaste’s work is just as detailed. The Zyra cosplay isn’t an exception from the norm, but rather, another piece showing off her dedication to her craft. She’s put an equal amount of effort into cosplays for other League characters like River Spirit Nami and Elderwood LeBlanc. She’s also a fan of the mobile MOBA Arena of Valor, designing cosplays for Arum, Qi, and Yena. You can check out more of her work on her Instagram page.

  • LoL cosplayer charms fans with stunning Elderwood Ahri – Dexerto

LoL cosplayer charms fans with stunning Elderwood Ahri Instagram: inori_cos / Riot GamesGerman cosplayer ‘Inori’ has adapted yet another League of Legends character into a brilliant cosplay, this time captivating fans with a stunning Elderwood Ahri outfit. Elderwood Ahri is one of the Nine-Tailed Fox’s many skins in League of Legends. She is a much-beloved character after all, and is one of the community’s favorites to adapt into cosplay. There aren’t too many examples of the Elderwood skin out there though given how recently it was released. However, German cosplayer Inori might have created the best of the bunch so far. Sharing the cosplay on Instagram, Inori’s take on the Nine-Tailed Fox has captivated players. She has crafted everything from head to toe, from the detailed floral skirt to the intricate head dress. Bright with pinks, greens, and other floral tones, Inori’s cosplay looks dragged straight out of the splash art. While she was hoping to show this off at a convention in the coming months, sadly it doesn’t look like things are opening up again. However, for a quarantine project, this looks to have been a great use of time. https://www.instagram.com/p/CBBHhIpIFD5/ There is one key element that fans might have noticed missing: the fox’s iconic nine tails. After all, Ahri is the Nine-Tailed Fox — it’s in her extended title. Inori hasn’t created tails for the foxgirl, but she has improvised in the next best possible way. She painted a background, including a wispy set of pink and blue tails, to stand next to while posing in her immaculate cosplay. https://www.instagram.com/p/CBVyQ4dI0JM/ Ahri isn’t the only League character Inori has adapted over the past few months. She also created True Damage Akali and Arcade Miss Fortune cosplays, while also sharing her past cosplays like True Damage Qiyana. Once conventions start getting up and running again, this will be one cosplay fans will be flocking to find Inori in.

LoL cosplayer celebrates the Lunar New Year in style as Lunar Beast Darius Twitter: TwiinCosplay / Riot GamesIt’s the Lunar New Year, and to celebrate, some cosplayers are dressing up as their favorite characters inspired by the festival. One League of Legends cosplayer has taken this to the next level, bringing the Year of the Ox in with style as Lunar Beast Darius. 2021 marks Lunar New Year celebrations for the Year of the Ox, symbolizing diligence, honesty, power, and excellence. Every year, Riot releases a new set of League of Legends skins to celebrate the big holiday. Obviously, a lot of the designs this year were based around that Ox theme, featuring powerful champions and a few tough helmets. One of the new arrivals was Darius. The Noxian’s Lunar Beast skin has taken Summoner’s Rift by storm, with a big bulky axe, plenty of red and gold, and even a couple of horns to bring home the Ox theme. However, if you thought the in-game cosmetic was good, you should check out cosplayer ‘TWINN’ and his adaptation of the skin. Filipino cosplayer Jin has taken his appreciation to the next level though, pulling off a perfect Jayce cosplay to celebrate the release. Arcane has been taking over living rooms across the world, with the League of Legends story based in Piltover and Zaun topping Netflix charts. While the story is focused primarily on sisters Powder (later Jinx) and Vi, the Defender of Tomorrow, Jayce, is a prominent part in the show. Filipino cosplayer Jin had the chance — from Riot itself — to step into Jayce’s shoes at the top of Piltovan society, and he seized it perfectly. We are the City of Progress and our future is bright! Dazzling Jayce cosplay by @behindjinfinity ✨ pic.twitter.com/NLZpfkijmv — League of Legends: Wild Rift Philippines (@wildriftPHL) November 17, 2021 “Jayce is probably the biggest cosplay challenge I’ve had to take up, but it was a challenge from Riot Games! I’m honored they chose Jayce for me,” he said. “I feel like my team and I had managed some magic— err, Hextech to make it happen! This was such a fun cosplay and photoshoot to work on.” Jin’s cosplay has blown away League of Legends fans, with a stunning rendition of one of Arcane’s main characters. Dressed up in his rather formal Piltover garb, no detail has been left neglected. The clean white top, the leather armguards, the maroon pants, the silver trim and buttons — it’s just a perfect recreation of Jayce. I fight for a brighter tomorrow! My Jayce cosplay for #RiotXArcane ! He was chosen for me, and I thought the challenge sounded daunting… so I went for it! Catch #Arcane on Netflix! Act 3 is this weekend, I’m not ready for it to end! It was shot from a low angle (in an attempt to make me look taller) and it hits different,” he joked. With Arcane Act 3 just around the corner, Jin’s magnificent Jayce cosplay is just the content needed to whet your appetite for the final release.

  • LoL cosplay group steals the show with stunning K/DA get-up – Dexerto

LoL cosplay group steals the show with stunning K/DA get-up Instagram: mika.cosspace / Riot GamesFour cosplayers from Ukraine have banded together to create an absolutely stunning take on League’s fan-favorite idol group K/DA, putting their own spin on Evelynn, Ahri, Kai’Sa, and Akali. K/DA have made waves in the gaming music industry since their debut hit POP/STARS back in 2018. The League of Legends four-piece set hasn’t released anything new since, but wild speculation always flurries around the community in the hopes for more collaborations with the popular group. To this day, they remain some of the most popular characters in gaming to cosplay with their classy get-up always getting fans excited. However, very rarely do you see a group of cosplayers managing to get all four characters together in the same spot. So when Ukrainian cosplayers ‘makusha,’ ‘Marengo,’ ‘MiKa,’ and ‘Sai Westwood’ got together for a photo shoot as the four queens of K/DA, there was even more reason to be hyped. The group pulled off a number of different looks for the group, straying away from the default style of the group. Popping with pastel pinks and purples, the group’s take on K/DA has a more casual vibe to it. Makusha took on Akali, with a bit more of a colorful vibe than the base K/DA skin. With a pink tank top and blue sweater, Maku looked as cool, calm, and collected as the shadow assassin herself. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7gfV8RjIRm/ MiKa starred as Kai’Sa, front-and-center in the shoot with the iconic double bun and braid hairstyle. Swapping out the tight fitting pants for a more loose fit, she still manages to pull off the confident aura of the AD carry. Marengo hit the stage as Ahri, with a more glittery look that differs from the other three. The crisp white is a bit of a contrast to the pinks and purples of the others, standing out as the Prestige skin of the lot. Finally, Sai stole the show with a great rendition of Evelynn. With knee length boots and a matching one-piece, she’s got the same swagger as the Agony’s Embrace. https://www.instagram.com/p/BvedtOYDxLQ/ While the group often meet up at cosplay conventions around Eastern Europe together, they rarely manage to get together for a group shoot like this. Marengo described the shoot with her best friends as “the most hard and the most lovely photoshoot in my life,” and you can see the lengths they all went to pull it off. Getting one member of the group nailed down is already incredible, but managing to assemble all four in such a manner is another level of impressive. While there’s no set date for when K/DA are expected to release another hit, fans are still eagerly holding out hope that the group will get back together and produce some more great tunes.

Legendary Overwatch cosplay captivates with face-changing Sombra skin BlizzardWhile Overwatch’s Lunar New Year event is coming to an end on February 5, a talented cosplayer dedicated themselves to recreating Sombra’s new face-changing Legendary just in time to see the annual event closeout. From the Guan Yu Reinhardt skin to Roadhog’s Feast intro, there are dozens of unique Lunar New Year items in Blizzard’s popular hero shooter thanks to four years of annual content drops. The 2020 event introduced a plethora of new emotes and intros, but arguably the most impressive feature is the new Face Changer Sombra skin. An intricate Legendary unlock, the design stands as one of the more unique in Overwatch history yet talented cosplayers have already brought the costume to life. Promoted on the official Overwatch Twitter account, a design by CBG studio brought the new Legendary cosmetic into the real world as Wang Jun Yi embodied the Talon hacker. Dashing around an appropriately themed locale, the cosplayer gave a full demonstration of the costume in effect. From the minuscule details of each intricate pattern to the sleek design of her accompanying weapon, no amount of effort was spared in recreating the face-changer skin. Thanks to some clever editing, the skin appears to change face multiple times throughout the video, perfectly capturing the unique in-game effect of the item. Reboot and try again. Overwatch fans will have to wait another year to see which heroes get new skins the next time that the LNY event rolls around. Coming to a close on Feb 5, the window is closing for you to purchase this 2020 Sombra skin in-game. Wang Jun Yi wasn’t the first cosplayer to unveil a LNY skin, however, with D.Va’s Palanquin Legendary was also authentically realized by one crafty creator.

After what felt like an eternity, Nintendo finally treated Zelda fans to another look at Breath of the Wild 2 at the end of their E3 Direct on June 15. It was full of action and, if anything, made everyone want the game even more. Skilled cosplayer RBF Cosplay is a huge fan of The Legend of Zelda series, and what better way to commemorate the new trailer by bringing Princess Zelda to life. Her outfit is so good, it’s as though the heroine has jumped out of the game itself. Legend of Zelda cosplayer’s charming Princess Zelda RBF Cosplay was lovely enough to provide us with details behind her cosplay, including why she decided to recreate Zelda’s look. “I had always really liked Zelda’s design in BotW – her looks and personality were just very natural compared to earlier games but still had some elegance to it,” she said. In her rendition of the Princess, she wears a white Goddess dress straight from the game, with a triforce belt wrapped around her waist. She tops it off with the heroine’s gold royal crest necklace and arm bands, tying the look together effortlessly. “I drafted the dress pattern myself, dyed the fabric, and ended up remaking the dress twice,” RBF revealed. “The bracers and necklace were made from a thick card stock covered in vinyl (I actually used a pizza box the first time around!). I opted to diverge from her canon design a bit and added some detail to the belt as well as make the dress more “flowy” overall.” View this post on Instagram “I’m pretty excited for BoTW2!” the cosplayer exclaimed when asked about the upcoming sequel. “I came into the first game a few years late but I love the open world map and how there is so much to explore. I look forward to seeing how this one will differ and where they’ll go with the story.” As for her favorite The Legend of Zelda title? “I think my favorite Legend of Zelda game would have to be The Wind Waker,” she said. “There are tons of great games in the series but there’s a bit of nostalgia in that one for me. I used to play it a lot as a kid and it’s just a fun, enjoyable game!” If you’d like to see more of her cosplay, including a brilliant Majora’s Mask creation, you can check out her work over on Instagram at @rbf.cos. Legend of Korra cosplayer saves humanity as the next Avatar Nickelodeon / Instagram: @leiraplays[jwplayer MDxzN19r]A talented cosplayer has shared an amazing take on Korra from the hit sequel series to Avatar: The Last Airbender. It’s so good, it’s as though she’s bended her way out of the TV screen and into real life. Released in 2012, The Legend of Korra continues the story of the Avatar, and sees the successor – a 17-year-old girl from the Southern Water Tribe – learning to restore peace and balance in a now-modernized world. While Aang was still alive, he created a sovereign state called Republic City where benders and non-benders can live in harmony. Though it grew into chaos after his passing. The series has won awards for its themes surrounding terrorism, race, sexual orientation, and social issues, and boasts a fanbase just as vocal as its predecessor’s – which includes cosplayers. One such fan decided to become Korra with a getup that’s a dead ringer for the character, and it’s brilliant. Amazing Avatar Korra cosplay Cosplayer ‘leiracosplays‘ is the genius behind the incredible work. Not only does she make an uncanny Korra, she’s also shared outfits based on popular characters from The Last Airbender such as Azula and Ty Lee. In her latest take, she nails the protagonist’s casual pose from the show, while dressed in her signature Water Tribe getup. It consists of a high-collared blue sleeveless shirt with navy pants and a brown skirt of sorts. Leira even included the arm and wrist wraps that the heroine wears, finishing off the look with an accurate hairstyle complete with the blue pieces that frame the sides of her face, and stunning contact lenses that make the eyes pop. https://www.instagram.com/p/CDMY_RsDngb/ To bring the costume to life, the artist also posted a video of her in the cosplay while lipsyncing along to an argument between Korra and Tahno. In Book One, she joins the Future Industries Fire Ferrets as a pro bender, and is pitted up against the White Falls Wolfbats. “You know, if you’d like to learn how a real pro bends, I could give you some private lessons,” he says, as Leira raises her eyebrows fiercely. “You want to go toe-to-toe with me, pretty boy?” she mouths, before the sound of the heroine’s polar bear dog Naga comes crashing into the scene to Tahno’s horror. https://www.instagram.com/p/CDNVhyxDO1A/ If this has given you the urge to watch The Legend of Korra, then you’re in luck. Legend of Korra cosplayer becomes the Avatar with true-to-life costume A talented fan turned the main protagonist from the hit Nickelodeon animation The Legend of Korra into a real-life work of art, showcasing the mind-blowing skills of the element-bending heroine from Avatar: The Last Airbender’s spin-off show. The Legend of Korra aired on Nickelodeon in 2012, and was the spin-off sequel to the groundbreaking animation series Avatar: The Last Airbender, which ended in 2008. Taking place 70 years after the journey of Aang, the story focuses on his successor Korra, as she tries to find her voice and purpose as the next Avatar, and a cosplayer became her with an incredibly realistic costume. Cosplayer becomes Avatar Korra While for most of the series Korra infamously has her hair up in ponytail (which is a Water-Tribe tradition), in Book 4 the element-bending protagonist cuts off all her locks, and adopts a bob style. Perfectly nailing the look, ‘cosplayversace‘ transformed into the Avatar when she showed off her mind blowing true-to-life costume with the character’s fourth season look. The Seattle-based artist has gained 2.1k followers with her talented costumes. https://www.instagram.com/p/B6MsNTgjl0H/ Avatar fans are sure to be excited for 2020 as Netflix announced that they are bringing the beloved animation back to life with a live-action remake on its streaming service next year. Nickelodeon is also re-releasing the entire original series on Blu-Ray in February in a limited steelbook collectors series, which is the perfect way to celebrate the show’s 15th anniversary.

  • League streamer Emiru blows TikTok fans away with explosive Jinx cosplay – Dexerto

League streamer Emiru blows TikTok fans away with explosive Jinx cosplay Emiru, Instagram / Riot GamesPopular Twitch streamer Emiru left League of Legends fans mindblown after sharing her incredible cosplay of the Loose Cannon, Jinx, on TikTok. Emiru has become quite popular for her League of Legends streams and unique cosplays, gaining hundreds of thousands of followers across different social media channels for her efforts. In one of her latest cosplays, the Cloud9 content creator decided to take on the challenge of recreating the fan-favorite ADC champion Jinx from League of Legends. While Jinx is one of the most popular Marksman champions in the game, the character’s unusual look can be quite challenging to recreate and is not cosplayed as much as some of the other characters. However, Emiru shared her attempts at cosplaying the Loose Cannon on TikTok and received overwhelming support from her followers and League of Legends fans. The streamer was praised for her attention to detail, after perfectly copying Jinx’s outfit and hairstyle before finishing the cosplay with matching tattoos, eye contacts, and makeup. Emiru even included the League of Legends song, “Get Jinxed,” in the background of one of her TikTok videos, which was specifically made for the champion she was cosplaying. She also followed up with her own version of the viral transformation trend on TikTok, highlighting just how much work went into this incredible Jinx cosplay with ‘before and after’ clips. Despite admitting that she was “scared about uploading” her latest cosplay on TikTok, the streaming star’s efforts seem to have gone down well with fans of the popular MOBA. Although the champion has fallen out of the League of Legends meta in recent patches, Emiru’s cosplay might have inspired some players to become Jinx mains once again.

  • League players fall in love with charming Blood Moon Evelynn cosplay – Dexerto

League players fall in love with charming Blood Moon Evelynn cosplay Twitter: veenacos / Riot GamesLeague of Legends fans have been absolutely charmed by Veena’s Blood Moon Evelynn cosplay, with the American-based cosplayer showing it off for the first time at KatsuCon a couple of weeks ago and receiving widespread praise for it. Blood Moon Evelynn is a majestic take on League’s resident succubus. The champion is often a hit at cosplay conventions as one of the game’s most popular characters, and it’s easy to see why. American cosplayer Veena decided that she’d give the champion’s oriental-themed skin a crack, but added a few twists on the original design. With the help of concept artist and illustrator Erai Violett, the cosplayer pulled off a stunning rendition of League’s Blood Moon Evelynn skin. Although it’s not a perfect recreation of the original players see in game, it didn’t need to be, with Veena instead choosing to add her own personal flair. Instead of donning a black dress to enchant her enemies, Veena opted for a red and white robe like Erai used in their 2018 design. https://www.instagram.com/p/B9pgSHDlLwk/ Where Veena did stick to tradition though was in the small touches. Her nails were the same fluorescent blue as Evelynn’s in the skin, while a lot of effort went into making the perfect headdress. From the horns on the front, to the makeup, Veena looked the part in her cosplay of League’s succubus. She pulled off a hairstyle closer to her blonde compared to the crimson red of the skin, instead adding a few touches of the vibrant color in her hair extensions. LoL fans couldn’t help but be infatuated with the cosplay, with many professing their love for the twist Veena put on the costume thanks to EraiViolett’s design. Here’s the finished work of Blood Moon Evelynn. Click the link to my portfolio to see the full concept and Abilities. Had a ton of fun with this, thanks for all the feedback. Hope you like it 💜! https://t.co/Uv0MwgiTLi — EraiViolett (@EraiViolett) February 26, 2018 Veena’s costume demonstrates that sometimes a perfect replica of a cosplay from the source isn’t the only way to make a great costume. With her own personal touches, the American cosplayer made the cosplay suited to her, and still managed to pull it off as well as anyone who’d adapt the full get-up for themselves.

  • LoL cosplayer relishes the spirit of the hunt as Spirit Blossom Kindred – Dexerto

LoL cosplayer relishes the spirit of the hunt as Spirit Blossom Kindred Riot Games / MissKurutaMissKuruta left her fans speechless with an out-of-this-world transformation into one of League of Legends’ most adorable champion and skin combinations, Spirit Blossom Kindred. Kindred is arguably the most unique champion in League of Legends. It’s comprised of two entities, Lamb and Wolf. The former moves and attacks while the latter is involved in some abilities but cannot be targeted by foes. Normally, it looks like an intimidating and eerie figure based on its default skin. However, the Spirit Blossom skin turns it into a charming purple-haired spirit huntress accompanied by her adorable-yet-menacing pet wolf. For that reason, Spirit Blossom Kindred has become a popular choice among cosplayers, including MissKuruta. “Kindred is one of my favorite League champs!” she told Dexerto. “I love the background of this character and its design.” “I’ve always wanted to cosplay it, but I didn’t really like the idea of dressing as a lamb, to be accurate. So, when the Spirit Blossom Kindred skin turned her into a cute girl, I wanted to cosplay it as soon as possible!” View this post on Instagram MissKuruta also said she made the bow, mask, and hooves by herself. “Crafting the props is my favorite part of cosplay,” she added. “It was my first time making hooves, and I had so much fun. They turned out really realistic. I’m really proud of them!” And so she should be. The entire piece turned out great, and her fans cannot get enough of it. They heaped praise in the form of comments and likes and described it as “amazing” and “perfect,” and we couldn’t agree more. Funnily enough, the most challenging part of the cosplay had nothing to do with the crafting process. Instead, it was the conditions surrounding the photoshoot. “It was really hot outside, and I can’t stand hot temperatures!” she laughed. Fortunately, her efforts to brave the scorching heat weren’t made in vain. Thanks to the sunshine and neon-blue sky, the pictures turned out great. They helped make the cosplay look more vibrant than it already was. If you’d like to see more of MissKuruta’s work, you can check out her socials here.

  • League of Legends cosplayer lights up the internet as stellar Lux – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer lights up the internet as stellar Lux Riot Games / Instagram: yuji.hannahThe Lady of Luminosity, Lux, is known for not just brightening people’s day, but the battlefields of League of Legends with her blinding abilities. One cosplayer is bringing that joy to fans with a stellar cosplay of the mage. Lux’s magical ability is blinding, to say the least. Manipulating light, the League of Legends mage had to keep her powers a secret from fellow Demacians in her homeland in order to protect her family. She’s the epitome of optimism in-game, and a fan favorite when it comes to cosplays because of it. At every League of Legends event and cosplay convention, you’ll find a Lux cosplayer somewhere in the crowd. In the absence of those real life events, ‘yuji.hannah’ has taken to sharing her beautiful designs more readily on Instagram. Her latest Lux design has won fans hearts over, and is lighting up the internet. Yuji designed the Demacian mage’s light armor, wig, and more. Not only that, but she tailored her make-up to look like the Lux in the Warriors 2020 cinematic — one of the most renowned in League history. Read More: Sneaky stuns fans with another K/DA cosplay – The cosplayer admitted she is a bit of a Lux player herself, playing the mage down in support. “Who doesn’t love playing Lux right,” she said in one of her posts. View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram The cosplay is stunning in all its fine details. Yuji certainly didn’t forget a thing in her design, and it’s as close a replica to Lux’s in-game model as you can get. Yuji has plans on making Lux’s scepter too for a full LoL cosplay shoot, not just pin-ups. Fans still have a beautiful cosplay to admire for now nevertheless, but once she gets the full get-up, you can expect it to go viral.

  • League of Legends cosplayer shines bright as enchanting Lux – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer shines bright as enchanting Lux Riot Games / Instagram: Lilya0oLilya ‘Lilya0o’ Victorovna’s amazing cosplays always brighten people’s days, but this time, she shined brighter than ever before as Lux, the Lady of Luminosity, from League of Legends. Luxanna Crownguard, better known as Lux, is one of the most popular champions in League of Legends. Not only can she bend light at her will, but she’s also notoriously cheerful and optimistic, making her a beacon of light in more ways than one. It’s no surprise, then, that’s she’s one of the most cosplayed champions in the game. And she fits the bill perfectly, too, given that cosplayers are often motivated by the chance of making fan’s days a little brighter with each piece. Lilya0o is one of those cosplayers. As a massive fan of the game, she’s already dished up some epic transformations into Ahri and Soraka. She even won the hearts of the Overwatch community with an angelic take on Mercy. Now, she’s done it again as Lux. And it was so well-received on social media, it drew almost 10,000 likes in a thread on the League of Legends subreddit alone. People believe their eyes: Some even said she looks more like the character than the in-game model. Lilya0o has repeatedly shown fans why she’s a master of her craft, and her latest cosplay is a testament to that. Every little detail is perfect, from the hair and make-up to the armor and props. It’s just about as good as it gets. League of Legends fans appreciate good cosplay, and it will be a while before we find one better than this.

  • League of Legends cosplayer ready to rebel as Vastayan “baddy” Xayah – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer ready to rebel as Vastayan “baddy” Xayah Riot Games / Instagram: WanderlusticaLeague of Legends cosplayer Wanderlustica, who made a name for herself as a cosplay extraordinaire, has brought feisty ADC heroine Xayah to life in all her Vastayan glory — you won’t see many LoL cosplays much better than this! [jwplayer OhiXHYBA] In 2017, League of Legends developers Riot Games decided to try something a little outside the box for their next champion release. Instead of dropping just one character, they debuted a duo — feathery Vastayan lovers Xayah and Rakan. The pair fit like a glove. She was an ADC, and he was her support. The pair — and their sassy love — soon became fan-faves in the League of Legends fandom. League cosplayer rules roost as Xayah Of course, like any League favorite, there’s been plenty of cosplay takes on the pair. Now, that includes famous cosplayer Wanderlustica, who donned a stunning costume of the LoL “baddy” for an Instagram photoshoot earlier this month. Wanderlustica’s stunning Xayah cosplay is absolutely amazing. She’s got every detail on point, from the Vastayan’s big busy ears, to her blue and red battle robe, and even the skull adorned on her shoulder from her old victories. The Xayah outfit also had the purple hood the ADC wears into every game on Summoner’s Rift, as well as her glorious purple and blood-red feathers. Luca rounded out the cosplay with knee-high wrap boots, and tough steel vambraces. View this post on Instagram “I definitely loved wearing this cosplay, I love badass characters and Xayah is definitely one of them!” the Dutch cosplayer said of her League cosplay. “I’m so in love with it.” Luca, who often makes her cosplays before showing them off on Instagram, was actually sent this Xayah outfit from Ezcosplay. The cosplay company had put the outfit together for Wanderlustica, who then added makeup and effects. View this post on Instagram Wanderlustica is far from the only League cosplayer to unveil a fancy new outfit recently either. Ariatamagotchi got into the Halloween spirit earlier this month with a perfect take on Bewitching Nidalee, and Sweet Angel donned an awesome Akali cosplay in late September. Luca also has more LoL projects in the works too. She’s already set to reveal her new K/DA cosplay soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that in November!

  • League of Legends Firecracker Vayne cosplay is the perfect night hunter – Dexerto

League of Legends Firecracker Vayne cosplay is the perfect night hunter Riot GamesA League of Legends fan has perfectly recreated the Firecracker Vayne outfit in real life and it might be the best cosplay we’ve seen for the character yet. The skin was first added to the game back in January 2019 to celebrate the year of the pig, incorporating the animal into her outfit in a way we hadn’t seen before. For the Lunar festival, celebrated chiefly in China and Vietnam, the night hunter was given a brand new piggy crossbow, as well as new models and textures. While the skin is certainly good to look at in-game, and has no doubt been purchased by many LoL players, it might be even more impressive when brought to life through cosplay. An up and coming cosplayer, who goes by the name of Shion Cosplay on social media, has posted their very own version of Firecracker Vayne to Twitter – showing how to pull off the look in real life. As many fans of League of Legends will know already, the skin changed a lot more than just the crossbow for Vayne, completely revamping the black outfit (as seen above) and changing it to something with warmer colors, coupled with a metallic lining. These changes were perfectly recreated by the cosplayer, with incredible attention to detail shown towards both the weapon itself and accessories – such as headdress, glasses, and more. Take a look for yourself. https://twitter.com/Shioncosplay/status/1193934517976883201 Not only does this Vayne revamp affect the way that it looks in League of Legends, but it also has a number of other fresh features that the base character doesn’t offer. These include new sound affects, particularly for fireworks which can be fired from the crossbow, metallic sounds, fresh poses and animations as well. For those interested in actually buying the outfit in-game, unfortunately the Legacy skin the look is currently unavailable, so players will have to keep an eye out for the Legacy Vault being opened up, or hope for a lucky drop from Hextech or Mastery chests.

  • League of Legends cosplayer swings her moonblade as Dragonslayer Diana – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer swings her moonblade as Dragonslayer Diana xjaycosplay/Instagram/Riot GamesA brilliant League of Legends cosplayer astonished fans with her phenomenal version of Dragonslayer Diana, which is considered one of the best hero and skin combinations. [jwplayer V7KFXiLn] Diana is one of the most iconic champions in League of Legends. Players are drawn to her for many reasons. Some love her fascinating moonblade and unique skillset. Others like the fact she’s almost always an excellent mid-lane pick, especially in the current meta. However, if you want to make her even more enticing, look no further than her epic Dragonslayer skin. It changes her into a more fantasy-themed warrior. Sometimes it’s not enough for League of Legends players to spam pick the champion they love. Sometimes, they want to transform themselves into them, if only for some photographs or a special event. xJayCosplay is one of those people. She set the internet on fire after posting a picture of her wearing a premium-looking Dragonslayer Diana cosplay. It was so well-received, even the official League of Legends account retweeted it. It doesn’t get much better than that. “Dragon Slayer Diana Sparkles,” she wrote. “Photo taken by JMW_PHOTOGRAPHY_59 on Instagram.” Dragon Slayer Diana ✨ Photo taken by JMW_PHOTOGRAPHY_59 on IG :^) #leagueoflegends #leagueoflegendscosplay #dianacosplay #cosplay #cosplaygirl pic.twitter.com/IdjuXmY5Dj— xJayCosplay (@xjay_cosplay) February 19, 2021 The cosplay looks insane. It captures every little detail about the skin from head to toe, including the intertwined gold, purple, and pink shades on the armor, as well as the horned helmet and white hair tied into a long ponytail. The highlight, however, is the moonblade. It looks so good, and you’d be forgiven for thinking she plucked it right out of the game. It’s almost the same size as her entire body, which is insane. All in all, it’s one of the most awesome League cosplays we’ve ever seen.

  • League of Legends cosplayer zooms into bot lane as electrifying Zeri – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer zooms into bot lane as electrifying Zeri Instagram: wanderlustluca, Riot GamesThe latest addition to the League of Legends roster, Zeri, fuses electricity and speed to take down the enemy bot lane, and this cosplayer is channeling that power in a stunning recreation of LoL’s newest champion. League of Legends Season 12 is starting off with a bang. With new ADC champ, Zeri, making her bot lane debut in patch 12.2, Riot is hoping to bring an FPS-style heroine to Summoner’s Rift. Bearing a striking resemblance to Neon, the sassy speedstress who just made her debut in Riot’s flagship shooter Valorant, players have been desperate to get their hands on the Zaunese equivalent. Thoroughly aboard the hype train is Dutch cosplayer wanderlustluca (Luca), whose stunning rendition of the mischievous marksman could easily be mistaken for a 3D render. League of Legends Zeri cosplay electrifies enemies Telling Dexerto that “I choose Zeri because she had just come out that day and a friend and I were speaking about her design,” Luca notes that “I remembered I actually have a wig in the same color and how I could do her that same night. So I did.” Stating that it was “meant to be a quick little cosplay,” her editor itdphoto “turned it into something amazing!” The entire outfit for the photo below was made digitally, with the most difficult part of the process being the posing itself. “It’s definitely not easy to stay in such a difficult pose while my hair stayed in the right position and I got my facial expression right. I had to keep taking short breaks because my legs would start to hurt a lot.” But boy was it worth it. You’d be forgiven for mistaking that Luca is, in fact, the Spark of Zaun in this image. Perfectly recreating Riot’s splash art for the champion, electricity swirls around her and destroys oncoming enemies. Neon green hair tied back into adorable space buns whistles in the wind, and her entire outfit is recreated to perfection. View this post on Instagram In a more casual image, you catch a glimpse of Luca in the Zeri outfit she made from “actual clothes I wore that I had laying around in my house.” Despite these simply being household items, from the tip of her sparking fingers to the white cross on her face everything is masterfully recreated. View this post on Instagram Having racked up over 20k likes on both images, Luca’s League of Legends cosplay journey isn’t looking to slow down anytime soon. “You’ll see a lot more League of Legends cosplays,” she told Dexerto. “I love cosplaying League characters the most, it’s probably cause I’ve played since 2014. League cosplays are something I’ll always continue to do!” And that is music to our ears. We can’t wait to see who Luca transforms into next – whether it’s Withered Rose Zeri, or an upcoming champion we haven’t seen yet, we know she’ll absolutely kill it!

  • League of Legends cosplayer turns on the charm as jaw-dropping Ahri – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer turns on the charm as jaw-dropping Ahri Instagram: monii.bagel / Riot GamesA League of Legends cosplayer has totally charmed the internet with her jaw-dropping Ahri costume. The talented model’s stunning Nine-Tailed Fox cosplay is totally worthy of getting all the way to Challenger! League of Legends has plenty of famous characters, but none have captured the fandom’s imagination quite like vastayan sorceress Ahri. Ever since her release in 2011, Ahri has been the MOBA’s unofficial cover girl. The mid laner is one of the most popular picks for any cosplayer, and for good reason; the nine-tailed fox spellcaster boasts a whopping 13 skins in the world’s most popular MOBA. Ahri cosplay charms LoL fans Cosplayer and aspiring Twitch streamer monii.bagel decided to go a little old school with her stunning cosplay, however. She unveiled her take on the original Ahri skin, which has been a staple for the character since release. The costume itself was bright red — just like Ahri’s — with white fashion trim. Monii also had a thin gold and blue belt to keep the costume together. The cosplayer also donned a pair of black vastayan ears, and painted on the Ahri whiskers. The final pieces of the cosplay puzzle were Monii’s makeup. She had put in piercing yellow contacts to capture Ahri’s charming stare, and her long wig fit perfectly. All that was missing was an “Orb of Deception,” which Ahri uses in battle. “I really, really love the arms and sleeves,” Monii admitted to Dexerto after she posted the Ahri cosplay on Instagram. “They really complete the Ahri outfit, and look so great. They make me feel really magical!” “Magical” Ahri cosplay Monii’s labor of love Monii’s a self-confessed League of Legends addict; she’s been playing the game for “nearly a decade now,” though she still “really sucks” at Ahri, the cosplayer added with a laugh. “I used to play her a lot back in 2012-2014, but I was never really good at her LOL!” “I love her design and story a lot though,” she added. “I see her as a really tragic character.” Perhaps Monii’s hottest take was why she plays League of Legends too: “It relaxes me a lot, surprisingly.” With plenty of League of Legends fans among the Dexerto writing group, we can definitely confirm Monii is a rare case there! View this post on Instagram You can delete one champion from league, who do you delete? ? I am so happy with how this came out ;0; how are u guys lately? I hope everyone is doing good and HAPPPYYY ? Monii isn’t the only League cosplay we’ve featured recently either. Earlier this week, Paperwings conjured up a magical take on mid powerhouse Syndra, and back in July cosplayer Elise Amai unveiled her K/DA Ahri cosplay too.

  • League of Legends cosplayer takes to the stage as stunning K/DA Akali – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer takes to the stage as stunning K/DA Akali Riot GamesLeague of Legends cosplayer Andrasta has done it again, stunning the internet with her amazing K/DA bad girl Akali cosplay. Now all she needs is a bit of spray paint and she’s pretty much good to go! Riot’s K-pop music group K/DA burst onto the scene in late 2018, and has been a go-to for League cosplayers around the world ever since. The quartet returned after a two-year hiatus last week too, releasing comeback single “The Baddest.” One of the standout stars of the group is Akali, voiced by (G)I-dle’s Soyeon in both of K/DA’s tracks. It was the K/DA rapper that drew cosplay star Andrasta’s attention, and she dropped her own fiery cosplay take on Akali on Instagram. K/DA cosplayer takes the stage as Akali Akali’s signature K/DA outfit is mainly made up of whites and golds. The League singer dons a purple K/DA cap for her tracks, while sporting a huge, shiny half-cut coat that hangs off her during the original POP/STARS video clip. Andrasta had all that on display in her stunning cosplay and plenty more — the LoL cosplayer certainly captured Akali’s sassy attitude in her September 2 shots. The model made sure to pair that ‘tude with some stunning white makeup too. Finally, the cosplay came together thanks to Akali’s huge purple hair and a smattering of gold bangles and accessories. Andrasta finished it all off with ripped back dancing pants, and the K/DA Akali cosplay look was basically complete. https://www.instagram.com/p/CEhj3NlgmG2 No K/DA Akali cosplay is complete without a big splash of spray-paint though. In the group’s POP/STARS video clip, the rapper is seen wielding glow in the dark paint during parts of the track. So, of course, Andrasta did the same too: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bq2nOaOAx0a Akali cosplay takes Andrasta back to the past Andrasta’s August appearance as K/DA rapper Akali wasn’t actually her first time dressing up as the band member — but that’s the point! League of Legends cosplayer stuns with Irelia’s Divine Sword outfit Yuuno/Riot GamesPopular cosplayer “Yuuno” has blown away League of Legends fans with an incredible costume inspired by Irelia’s Divine Sword skin. Irelia has been one of the most popular champions in League of Legends since she was released during Season 1 in late 2010. Despite not getting as much playtime in the current meta, she is still considered one of the most recognizable champions and her unique range of skins often makes her one of the go-to champions to cosplay. The latest to bring the champion to life was popular cosplayer, Yuuno, who opted to recreate Irelia’s look from her Epic ‘Divine Sword’ skin. Yuuno shared her cosplay of the Ionian champion on the League of Legends subreddit on April 4 where she was met with overwhelming praise for the outfit’s attention to detail. The cosplayer admitted that she was yet to have a prop of Irelia’s floating blades to complete the look but was eager to share her the results of her hard work with fellow League of Legends fans. “Attempted to cosplay Divine Sword Irelia! • League of Legends cosplayer stops the show as Christmas Sett – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer stops the show as Christmas Sett Riot Games / Reddit: Taryn_CosplayWhile it might not be a proper League of Legends skin, popular cosplayer ‘Taryn’ is putting their energy into bringing Christmas Sett to live, giving The Boss a festive tweak ahead of the holiday season. December often brings a myriad of Christmas-inspired cosplays out of the woodwork. In League of Legends, there’s a collection of Snow Day and other festive skins to pull out. However, some champions are yet to receive the magic of Christmas. Sett is one of those. The recently-released pit boss is celebrating his first Christmas in the League of Legends universe in 2020, having been added to the game in January this year. He doesn’t have a festive skin yet, but that hasn’t stopped fans from trying. If there’s one cosplayer that can pull off a Christmas Sett, it’s Taryn. We’ve already featured his previous Sett cosplays, and this latest one is right up there with the best of the best of all League cosplays — not just Sett ones. View this post on Instagram “I know well what my Sett cosplay means to many of you. I entered so much into this character, I made several versions, official and unofficial and now this,” he told his fans on Instagram. Taryn’s cosplay looks like it could be added right into League of Legends — well, that’s if we got a Snowdown event this year, which we didn’t. Cutting Santa’s suit in half, Taryn rocks the ripped physique we’ve come to expect from the Boss, all while delivering Christmas cheer with presents galore. The cosplay has, understandably, been a massive hit with fans. It’s garnered over 10,000 likes on Instagram, 3,000 on Twitter, and is going viral on Reddit. It might be Taryn’s last cosplay of 2020, but he’s certainly going out with a bang. https://twitter.com/cosplay_taryn/status/1341436747855630336 “I want to say a special thank you to my dear Twitch family for making this “prestige” Christmas Skin possible smashing the related goal on Twitch. Your love is my power,” he added. If Riot were looking for candidates for Christmas skins in 2021, Taryn’s Sett cosplay should be inspiration enough to give the Boss one of his own. The players want Snowdown to return, and this would certainly turn heads.

  • League of Legends cosplayer steps into spotlight as K/DA popstar Ahri – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer steps into spotlight as K/DA popstar Ahri Riot Games / Twitter: Elise AmaiA League of Legends cosplayer has stunned the internet with her perfect KDA popstar Ahri cosplay. The aspiring model’s awesome takes certainly makes us want to watch the Worlds 2019 pre-show just one more time. League has always boasted relatively popular music, most of which are simply instrumental pieces for champion reveals. The biggest of them all by far, however, has been 2018’s K-pop group K/DA, who officially debuted at Worlds that year. Riot released “POP/STARS,” K/DA’s first single, and it caught like wildfire. The catchy track was soon charting in countries across the world, and the original music clip on YouTube has hit over 350 million views in just eighteen months. The success of the band can partly be attributed to the characters Riot picked to fill out the group’s lineup. Akali, Evelynn, Kai’sa, and of course Ahri make up the band, and it was the last KDA member that Elise Amai decided to cosplay. League of Legends cosplayer becomes KDA Ahri K/DA Ahri, voiced by (G)I-dle star Cho Mi-yeon, is the de facto leader of the animated K-pop group. She signs much of the POP/STARS chorus, intertwining English lyrics with a handful of classic Korean verses as well. Elise Amai captured Ahri’s glow perfectly. Much of the K/DA star’s outfit is pure white, with a line of pink and black trim on the edges of her top. Amai made sure she even added the arm bracelets the Nine-Tailed Fox wears while singing, and her thigh-high boots too, which match the rest of the band’s uniforms. The standout features, however, are what Amai has done with her makeup. Ahri is a vastayan and that means she has whisker markings on her face. The League cosplayer added those to the side of her bone-white cheeks. Finally, she added Ahri’s iconic vastayan ears, and a dark K/DA choker to complete the full outfit. Really, the only thing missing is Ahri’s nine glass tails, which — if we’re being honest — might have been a bit big to add to the cosplay! https://twitter.com/eliseamai/status/1288320164300234758 First-timer pulls off perfect KDA Ahri cosplay It’s a really stunning cosplay, especially when you add in that it’s Elise’s “first actual cosplay” that she’s done! She told Dexerto she was interested in doing Ahri as a cosplay because she “does a lot of Korean-style makeup” so it was a perfect chance to show that off. “I love her K-pop style and fox ears!” the League cosplayer added when talking to Dexerto on July 29. “I picked Ahri because I felt like I could do her really well. I have a lot of friends that play League, and I saw her and immediately felt connected!” Amai’s Ahri cosplay definitely isn’t going to be the only League of Legends character she’ll become over the next few months either. She’s already got her eyes on Evelynn, as well as the prestige version of Ahri’s K/DA outfit. One final potential project “for the future” has also caught her eye: Spirit Blossom Ahri. The new skin came out as part of League’s huge Summer event, which is still underway now — don’t miss out on the skins and rewards!

  • League of Legends cosplayer steals the show as stunning K/DA Evelynn – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer steals the show as stunning K/DA Evelynn Instagram: melamori.cosplay / Riot GamesK/DA Evelynn is the seductive foundation of League of Legends’ hit K-Pop group, and Melamori has hit the right note with her stunning rendition of the band member. Her cosplay has enamoured fans, who are now cheering for an encore. While Ahri often steals the spotlight when it comes to K/DA content in League of Legends, Evelynn is not far behind the nine-tailed fox. Described as a “born superstar, and the foundation of K/DA’s sound”, fans go crazy over her verses in some of the band’s most iconic songs, including POP/STARS and BADDEST. Their sense of fashion has also driven the cosplay community crazy since their 2018 debut with a number of designs, and that was only doubled when the group returned for their MORE EP in 2020. Cosplayer ‘Melamori’ loves all things League of Legends, and finally managed to show off her stunning take on K/DA Evelynn, stealing the show on Instagram as a result. “Finally I finished her and happy to show you the result! As always I’m too late for [the] hype train, but I love [the] KDA designs a lot,” Melamori said. Everything about Melamori’s outfit is perfect. She styled Evelynn’s long purple hair perfectly, with just the right amount of makeup. However, the devil is in the details of the bright blue jacket, as well as Evelynn’s manicured talons. Melamori pulls it all off with amazing style, really embodying the spirit of K/DA’s lifeblood. View this post on Instagram It’s not the only K/DA member Melamori has cosplayed, with the talented star also having transformed into Ahri, Kai’Sa and Akali — doing both the K/DA and True Damage outfit for the latter. Now there’s only Seraphine left to do, and you can bet Melamori will look stunning as the popstar if she chooses to complete the set.

  • League of Legends cosplayer steals the show as glamorous K/DA Ahri – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer steals the show as glamorous K/DA Ahri Instagram: @alexy_sky_ / Riot GamesAhri likes to have the spotlight in the mid-lane and on-stage, but a brilliant League of Legends cosplayer has stolen the show with an epic transformation into ‘The Baddest’ K/DA Ahri. Ahri is, by far, one of the most popular champions in League of Legends. Fans can’t get enough of the devilishly charming mage-assassin, and that’s probably the reason why she was chosen to be the leader, founder and main vocalist in K/DA. But while she has many different styles and looks, the outfit she wore in the music video of K/DA’s hit single, ‘The Baddest,’ will forever be a fan favorite. Like the other members, she’s dressed in all-black with knee-high boots, a skirt, and a top. However, she still stands out with her pink and blonde hair, fox ears, and diamond-like tail. A talented cosplayer and make-up artist named alexy_sky_ is already hugely successful on Instagram. But for her latest piece, she decided to transform herself into “The Baddest” K/DA Ahri, and it’s fair to say that she stole the show. The costume, which she purchased from rolecosplaycostume, along with the wig from kasouwigs, looks stunning from top to bottom. However, she deserves some credit, too. Not everyone can pull it off as well as she did. View this post on Instagram Alexy_sky’s fans couldn’t believe their eyes. They went absolutely nuts over it and heaped praise on her in the comments. It’s been liked more than 8,000 times already, which is insane. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a League of Legends player, a K/DA fan, or a combination of the two. This is one of the most remarkable Ahri cosplays you’ll ever see, and we can’t wait to see what she does next.

This leaves plenty of choice for creative fans of the title, such as Paperwings, who like to recreate some of their favorite characters through cosplay and art. While Syndra is one of the most popular picks in-game, it is not often that the Ionian mage is cosplayed, with fan-favorite characters such as Ahri or Miss Fortune usually standing out first. However, cosplayer Paperwings reminded League of Legends fans just how impressive The Dark Sovereign can be, sharing her take on the champion’s Star Guardian skin on her Instagram. She was praised for her impressive attention to detail, flawlessly recreating the character’s outfit, even adding her matching headpiece as seen in-game. https://www.instagram.com/p/CDHFaYXIXqf/ However, what caught the attention of many League of Legends was the Dark Sphere in her hand, meaning that she was primed and ready to unleash power on any who cross her. • League of Legends cosplayer shimmers as beautiful Renata Glasc – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer shimmers as beautiful Renata Glasc Instagram: VKryp / Riot GamesPopular cosplayer Valentina Kryp has stolen the show once again, this time as League of Legends’ newly-released Renata Glasc. She stood shimmering as the beautiful Chem Baroness, with players fawning over her marvelous cosplay. Renata Glasc has taken League of Legends by storm since her release in February. Fans can’t get enough of the tough yet glamorous Chem Baroness, who has redefined the meaning of “enchanter support” in-game. Now players are falling in love with Argentinian cosplayer Valentina Kryp’s rendition of Renata. Riot worked with Kryp to bring the powerful Chem Baroness to life, and she followed the brief perfectly. Kryp made Renata’s intricate suit from scratch, with the white coat and black waistcoat both decorated with gold trimmings to imitate Renata’s luxurious style. She also remade her mask. Most impressively of all though was her take on Renata’s left arm. With a fluro pink cast and perfectly cut white pieces, she was able to get the skeletal feel down pat. Even after the shoot, the little touches of glowing purple around her reformed arm added that special touch. The cosplay was loved so much that Riot’s official accounts couldn’t help but share it with the world. The power this cosplay holds… https://t.co/wdkxLk2N84 — League of Legends (@LeagueOfLegends) March 1, 2022 “It makes me very happy to be able to represent a little bit of the talent that there is in [Latin America] and take cosplay one step further,” she said on Twitter. Given how every outfit of hers never fails to impress, you can expect Valentina to be cosplaying more champions down the line.

  • League of Legends cosplayer serenades the crowd as stunning K/DA Seraphine – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer serenades the crowd as stunning K/DA Seraphine Instagram: kitsuneraposa / Riot GamesSeraphine has been a hit in the League of Legends fandom, serenading millions as part of K/DA, as well as a solo artist. Few have managed to capture the Zaun and Piltovan artist’s essence as well as Brazilian cosplayer ‘kitsuneraposa’. Seraphine might be one of the newest additions to League of Legends, but the popstar has already made it big. The support / mid laner has been a hit with fans, thanks to her @seradotwav Twitter account and K/DA collaboration on release. Her story is the ultimate rags to riches one, and many fans have resonated with that. It also helps that she makes some pretty good music too. It’s made her a fan-favorite from well before she was even released, with many lining up to do casual cosplays of the League star. However, this one of her K/DA skin by ‘kitsuneraposa’ is one of the most decked out ones we’ve seen yet. Raposa took on Seraphine’s ALL OUT design — stage and all — in their cosplay. No expense was spared, and it shows. From the wig all the way down to the platform, everything is absolutely picture perfect. Raposa was actually brought on by Riot Brazil to do the cosplay, and said her experience was just like Seraphine’s growth. “Everything worked out in the end and the result was stunning. I ended up identifying myself as [Seraphine], and like her, I lived the dream of being part of K/DA for a day,” they said on Instagram. While Raposa is more known for her Ahri cosplays in the community — after all, Kitsune is in her name — her Seraphine one is easily her best work yet. View this post on Instagram From the stunning metallic dress, to the crystal powered stage and microphone, every detail was meticulously combed over. Her cosplay has won the world over, much like Seraphine herself did, and it’s for good reason. It’ll be hard to top this one for some time, and it’ll be one many cosplayers come back to so they too can transform into the Piltovan star.

  • League of Legends cosplayer rules the roost as vastayan rebel Xayah – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer rules the roost as vastayan rebel Xayah Instagram: Zhalia / Riot Games[jwplayer dpeFnl7P]A League of Legends cosplayer has gone viral after sharing her perfect take on the sassy ADC champion Xayah. The artist’s confident, powerful Season 7 bot laner cosplay will leave you seriously impressed. Xayah first debuted on Summoner’s Rift in early 2017. The League of Legends marksman was released alongside her ever-present lover Rakan, and the two quickly soared to the top of the metagame as a dynamic bot lane duo. Although the vastayan revolutionary has fallen behind over-tuned power-picks like Varus and Ezreal in recent patches, Xayah has always been a fairly popular choice for anyone looking to win some LP in League of Legends solo queue. It’s no small surprise then that veteran cosplay artist Zahlia picked the bot laner for her next LoL outfit, and what a perfect take it is! The artist, as well as photographer Moondust, caught all the sassy confidence of bird-like warrior Xayah in stunning detail. Zahlia unveils stunning Xayah cosplay Ells perfectly depicts the champion’s bright purple hair perfectly, capturing just the right hint of red beneath the deep-dyed locks. She also got Xayah’s vastayan ears just right too; they can be seen poking out of the heroine’s cowl. No Xayah cosplay would be complete without her “Deadly Plumage” either. The League ADC uses her feathers as deadly ranged weapons in every match on the Rift, and Zahlia has come armed with five of her own. They all look razor-sharp and as dangerous as ever. Perhaps the best details of Zahlia’s cosplay, however, is the way she’s captured Xayah’s face so perfectly. The lady warrior has two purple streaks that mark her pale white face, which Zahlia seems to have put together with ease. View this post on Instagram “? ????? ???? ?? ???? ?? ?????.” These are some photos of Xayah for you…?❤️ I really miss going to some conventions?✨ Especially meeting friends, getting to know some of you, having a good time together and taking nice photos? On March 30, the cosplay artist unveiled her stunning take on Ahri, complete with the mage’s red robes and white ears. Last year she also did a photoshoot as top laner Riven, though this one was the popular ‘Battle Bunny’ variant. • League of Legends cosplayer perfectly mimics LeBlanc’s Coven outfit – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer perfectly mimics LeBlanc’s Coven outfit Paperwings, Instagram / Riot GamesPopular cosplayer Sofia ‘Paperwings_xd’ has left League of Legends fans impressed yet again, this time pulling off an incredibly accurate cosplay of the new LeBlanc Coven skin. With over 150 champions to choose from, League of Legends has plenty of unique characters for fans to recreate through art or cosplay. However, the mid lane assassin, LeBlanc might be one of the flashiest champions there is in League, and has been a staple pick in-game for top players like Faker and Febiven, in recent years. While LeBlanc is regularly seen in the League of Legends meta, she is not a champion that too many have cosplayed, as her unique style and outfits can prove to be quite challenging to remake. Although one League cosplayer, Paperwings_xd, did not shy away from the task, deciding to tackle LeBlanc’s latest “Coven” skin and sharing her impressive attempt online. Paperwings received tons of support and praise for her attention to detail, when sharing her efforts on Reddit and Instagram, revealing that she had gone all out, mirroring the deceptive mage’s crown and collar in her cosplay. https://www.instagram.com/p/CFFYSfdIQu5/ Paperwings also mimicked LeBlanc with identical makeup and eye contacts to complete the look, before revealing just how much work had to be done for this cosplay. “Since the skin was released, I really wanted to cosplay her and now I finally finished her.” she admitted. “It was a ton of work to glue and cut each feather individually.” The popular cosplayer has previously impressed League of Legends fans with other incredible champion cosplays such as her recent take on Star Guardian Syndra. Some of her other cosplays include champions like Miss Fortune, Ahri, Nidalee, and more, as she continues her trend of bringing these League of Legends characters to life.

  • League of Legends cosplayer leaves her mark as Spirit Blossom Kindred – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer leaves her mark as Spirit Blossom Kindred Riot Games / Instagram: @cata.leyahCosplayers love dressing up as their favorite League of Legends champions, but one of them has out-done herself and transformed into Spirit Blossom Kindred.[jwplayer V7KFXiLn] League of Legends boasts a list of many incredible champions, but it’s hard to find one more ethereal and mystical than Kindred, The Eternal Huntress. Kindred is unique in the sense that it’s comprised of two entities. Lamb is the main one who moves and attacks. Wolf is the secondary one who is involved in some abilities and cannot be targeted by enemies. In terms of lore, they’re supposed to represent the two essences of death. Lamb claims the lives of those who accept their fate. Wolf, on the other hand, hunts down and crushes those who try to flee. Kindred isn’t one of the strongest jungle champions by any stretch of the imagination, but it is one of the coolest. The two entities normally look like an imposing figure on the battleground. However, the Spirit Blossom skin turns them into an adorable purple-haired spirit huntress and her pet wolf. A cosplayer named cata.leyah decided to manifest Spirit Blossom Kindred in the real world, and the end result looks outstanding. “Here is my spirit blossom kindred cosplay,” she said. “I love it soooo much! It’s my fav cosplay until now!” View this post on Instagram Leah re-created Spirit Bossom Kindred to perfection. The hair, horns, the eyes, and the outfit itself are all on point. It walks the fine line between adorable and fierce. To make it even more authentic, she included the yellow flower in her hair and the bows as well. It was a nice touch and one that rounds it out to be a complete piece. Leah really knows her League of Legends champions, and it shows. Leah’s picture has already generated almost two-thousand likes, and the numbers keep on rising. Some people in the comments said it’s the best Spirit Blossom Kindred cosplay they’ve ever seen. It’s always nice to see fans bring their favorite League champs to life. However, it’s even better when it’s one as awesome and unique as Spirit Blossom Kindred.

  • League of Legends cosplayer keeps Christmas spirit alive with Elf Jinx – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer keeps Christmas spirit alive with Elf Jinx Cosplayer ‘whiteeefox’ is still keeping the Christmas spirit going with an amazing take on the festive League of Legends Ambitious Elf Jinx skin. League of Legends is one of the most popular games in the world and features a wide range of unique characters. Just about everyone that plays the game has a favorite Champion, and many of those players choose to incorporate them in their cosplays. These Champions all also have their own skins, transforming them into different outfits, which vary depending on just about anything. Some are based on seasons and holidays, others on game events, foods, history – if you can think of a topic, there’s probably a skin based on it. One of the most popular collections of skins is the Christmas range, where champions dress up as a wide variety of things from the festive season. Cosplayer whiteefox chose to become the Christmas version of Jinx, keeping the spirit alive just a few days after the holiday. Dubbed as Ambitious Elf Jinx, the mischievous AD-carry becomes an elf in a workshop and the Polish cosplayer managed to pull it off incredibly well. The outfit is an extremely close replica, with the iconic Santa outfit and green and red leggings showing off all the festive colors. She also features Jinx’s iconic rocket launcher, which is amusingly disguised as a purple present with teeth. Of course, it wouldn’t be the Elf Jinx skin without the toy train firing icicles – a background piece that is often missed out. View this post on Instagram The outfit certainly captures the spirit of Christmas and the cosplayer is mirroring the champion’s joyful and careless attitude. However, it could be slightly improved, as the dress bow isn’t quite as grand as Jinx’s and the pattern on the leggings isn’t quite perfect. Although, it is still a very impressive cosplay in its own right, and definitely captures the spirit of Christmas.

  • League of Legends cosplayer hits high note as K/DA seductress Evelynn – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer hits high note as K/DA seductress Evelynn Kalinka Fox / Riot GamesLeague of Legends players adore their favorite characters, but one cosplayer has gone a step further and become a spitting image of K/DA’s seductive lead vocalist, Evelynn. [jwplayer V7KFXiLn] Evelynn might be a little less than a top-tier jungle champion, but she is still a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. However, her effectiveness as a champion hasn’t stopped League of Legends players from giving in to her seductive ways. Evelynn has been setting hearts on fire as one of K/DA’s lead vocalists for several years now. Her immense popularity isn’t slowing down anytime soon. What’s more, she’s become the perfect champion for cosplayers who love her charming demonic ways. Kalinka Fox is an immensely popular cosplayer with 235,000 followers on Instagram. She’s cosplayed everything from Hermione Granger and Lara Croft to Tifa Lockheart and Midnight. Now, in one of her latest photos, she dipped into the League of Legends universe and dropped jaws with an elegant Evelynn cosplay. “ALL I’ll EVER KNOW IS LIFE UP ON A THRONE,” she said, quoting K/DA’s hit song. “Who’s your fav champion now?” View this post on Instagram The outfit is incredible from top to bottom. It starts with a frighteningly accurate wig that has the perfect hue. Then, the quality trickles down from her perfectly shaped eyebrows and flawless make-up to the replica earrings and the outfit itself. However, the highlight has to be the claws, which look like they’ve been plucked right off Evelynn’s hands. The pose and expression are on point too. You wouldn’t want to get on her bad side. To top it off, Kalinka Fox is rocking the cosplay underneath a blueish-purple colored light and in front of several statues. The interesting backdrop and coloring add an additional sense of ambiance to the piece, which is a nice touch and rounds it off well. Kalinka Fox was quick to acknowledge that it was a team effort. She thanked her friends Anna Kreuz for helping put the costume together and Nori Kyoko for making the wig. Together, they’ve produced a piece that has turned the cosplay community upside down. It’s already generated around 15,000 likes, and it’s still on the rise. All in all, Kalinka Fox nailed every little detail in her Evelynn cosplay. It’s sure to be a treat for League of Legends players as well as cosplay fans in general.

  • League of Legends cosplayer has fans hooked with perfect Thresh outfit – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer has fans hooked with perfect Thresh outfit Riot Games / Instagram: riancydIt’s hard to imbue the spirit of Thresh on planet Earth. The Shadow Isles spirit and the custodian of many of Runeterra’s souls has a way of torturing their eternal existence. However, one cosplayer has managed to recreate the Chain Warden in the most perfect form possible. Thresh’s intricate design doesn’t lend itself to being a cosplay favorite. While many people love playing the Chain Warden down in the bot lane in League of Legends, he’s not one to venture outside the bounds of Runeterra. While many have tried — and been somewhat successful — we don’t think there’s been a better design than the one done up by Indonesian cosplayer ‘riancyd’. Rian called it their “best costume [from] League of Legends,” and we’d agree. The Indonesian has managed to bring the Chain Warden out of the Shadow Isles, ready to reap souls here on Earth. They didn’t forget a single detail. Rian curated a sickle and soul lantern for Thresh — two of his most important props. But looking at the dress from head to toe is perfect. He created a wraith mask to wear to emulate Thresh’s, and the robes are pixel-perfect. It’s not just the big things either. Small details, like the carvings across Thresh’s boots and sickle are perfectly in place. If you’re a Thresh main, this is one cosplay you’d want to see at a convention. View this post on Instagram The craziest thing? The cosplay isn’t even for Rian. The costume maker is designing the Thresh outfit for someone else as part of a commission. However, that didn’t stop Rian from doing a proportion test before sending it out. Hopefully, the lucky recipient does put it to use and takes it out in public once conventions start back up again. We will be hunting for them ourselves so we can get a photo with such an amazing cosplay!

  • League of Legends cosplayer goes viral on TikTok as dazzling K/DA Ahri – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer goes viral on TikTok as dazzling K/DA Ahri Instagram: @snitchery / Riot GamesSnitchery, an immensely popular cosplayer with almost 2 million followers, left League of Legends fans speechless with an incredible take on K/DA Ahri, and it’s gone viral on TikTok. League of Legends cosplayers never fail to impress. We’ve seen them bring many champions to life throughout 2021, including Diana, Lux, Xayah, and more. However, four K/DA members have been the most popular. Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa get lots of love. However, Ahri, the leader and founder of the virtual K-pop–group, is the most in-demand. It was only a matter of time before Snitchery, a popular figure in the cosplay scene, decided to give it a go, and it was a smash hit among fans and followers. The fact it even went viral on TikTok speaks volumes. The video shows her transforming from her usual look into K/DA Ahri. Not only did she do a good job of creativity capturing the process of slowly turning into the character, but she also nailed the costume, ears, hair, and make-up. It’s blowing up on the platform, drawing almost 50,000 likes and 200 comments in less than two weeks. But it’s not all that surprising given her track record of top-tier cosplays. After all, Snitchery is an expert in the field. Snitchery made waves in January 2021 after signing with Gen.G, an esports organization that competes in League of Legends, Overwatch, Valorant, and more, along with another talented cosplayer, Emily Ghoul. Since then, her massive following across all social platforms has grown even more. It seems like people can’t get enough of her amazing cosplays, ourselves included. We look forward to seeing what she’s got in store next!

  • League of Legends cosplayer dazzles fans as Prestige K/DA Ahri – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer dazzles fans as Prestige K/DA Ahri Riot Games/Instagram: @lilya0oA talented cosplayer and streamer named Lilya Victorovna, better known as LilyaOo, has wowed fans with her incredible take on Prestige K/DA Ahri from League of Legends, and it’s proven to be quite a hit. Ahri, the Nine-Tailed Fox, is one of the most popular champions in the game. Her fantastic look and awe-inspiring set of moves have seen her become a smash-hit in the community, which is probably why she was chosen to be the leader and founder of K/DA. But despite how awesome her default skin looks, as well as its many variants, it’s hard to find one that sparkles and shines as bright as her K/DA Ahri Prestige Edition skin. It’s got her rocking a new champagne gold color outfit and a classy hairstyle. League of Legends fans love a good cosplay. There’s something special about seeing your favorite champions come to life in magnificent detail. However, it’s even better when it looks as staggering as Lilya Victorovna’s take on Prestige K/DA Ahri. It’s got everything from the ears, eyes, hair, whiskers, and tail to the radiant outfit itself. • League of Legends cosplayer dances to K/DA beat as glamorous Kai’Sa – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer dances to K/DA beat as glamorous Kai’Sa Instagram: @likeassassin / Riot GamesKai’Sa is often considered the least popular member in League of Legend’s K/DA supergroup, but a revered cosplayer named Christina Volkova, also known as ‘likeassassin,’ is hoping to change that with her stunning take on the champion. Unlike the other K/Da members, Kai’Sa doesn’t take center stage in their music videos. Instead, she’s typically seen busting some dance moves in the background, which makes sense given her primary role in the group is the main dancer. Naturally, that means she’s often out of the spotlight in the cosplay community, too. Ahri, Akali, and Evelynn especially get lots of love. However, Kai’Sa cosplays are few and far between. But when they do pop up, they’re often incredible — especially when they’re done by someone as talented as Christina. Christina is no stranger in the cosplay scene. She’s got hundreds of posts and more than 200,00 followers on Instagram alone, making her one of the most well-known and reputable cosplayers in the world. Aside from the fact she’s done just about every cosplay under the sun, all of which are brilliant, she’s also cosplayed all the K/DA members. However, it looks like she’s saved the best until last with this breathtaking transformation into Kai’Sa. The attention to detail in the glistening neon-blue get-up is second to none. It’s got everything from the crop-top, pants, and choker to the armguards, hair, make-up, earrings, and iconic wings. When she asked her fans which K/DA cosplay they preferred, many said this one was the best. View this post on Instagram Christina can do no wrong when it comes to cosplays. They’ve all turned out amazing, and somehow, they still keep on getting better. We can’t wait to see what she’s got in store next. • League of Legends cosplayer charms fans as Spirit Blossom Ahri – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer charms fans as Spirit Blossom Ahri Shiroki, Instagram / Riot GamesSpanish cosplayer Shiroki left League of Legends fans in awe after sharing her impressive attempt at recreating Ahri’s new Spirit Blossom skin. With over 150 champions in League of Legends and even more now confirmed ahead of Season 11, there is plenty of choice for cosplayers that are looking to recreate their favorite characters. Although Ahri is one of the fan-favorite champions and is often a top pick for cosplayers, Shiroki still managed to impress fans with her take on Ahri’s latest ‘Spirit Blossom’ skin. The Nine-Tailed Fox received a brand new look for Riot’s narrative-driven Spirit Blossom event, which started in July, and Shiroki wasted no time in recreating Ahri’s new style. After creating the mid-lane mage’s unique outfit, the popular cosplayer shared her attempt with her followers and League of Legends fans on Instagram, where she was met with tons of praise for her efforts. Many fans pointed out Shiroki’s incredible attention to detail, as she perfectly mirrored Ahri’s new skin, even matching her unusual hairstyle and tail in her cosplay. https://www.instagram.com/p/CFcs7QMDnZk/ The cosplayer shared a few different photos to Instagram but perhaps one of the most impressive in the collection was her recreation of the Ahri’s Spirit Blossom splash art, which can be seen in-game. Shiroki even found a waterfall with a small pool and forestry background for her photoshoot, similar to the one seen in Ahri’s League of Legends skin artwork. https://www.instagram.com/p/CDMfiSVj9R9/ This is not the first League of Legends champion that Shiroki has recreated, having previously shared her cosplay attempts on Miss Fortune, Xayah, and more with her fans. While Ahri is one of the most popular champions, she has not been seen as a viable pick in the meta for quite a while, but following recent buffs, this cosplay might inspire some League of Legends players to try her out again.

  • League of Legends cosplayer dashes into battle as charming Spirit Blossom Ahri – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer dashes into battle as charming Spirit Blossom Ahri Riot Games / @naomipeachuNaomiPeachu’s passion for League of Legends motivated her to cosplay her favorite champion and skin combination, Spirit Blossom Ahri, and it turned out to be an incredibly charming piece. League of Legends cosplayers love transforming into their favorite champions. However, ones that have Spirit Blossom skins, which typically have a more vibrant look with a subtle floral aesthetic, have proven to be a smash hit. As it stands, only ten champions have them; Ahri, Cassiopeia, Kindred, Lillia, Riven, Thresh, Teemo, Vayne, Yasuo, and Yone. But despite that, amazing Spirit Blossom cosplays keep popping up, especially Spirit Blossom Kindred and Ahri. NaomiPeachu, who is a self-professed Ahri main, told Dexerto her “passion for the champion and its skins” motivated her to give cosplaying it a go. “I knew I had to cosplay Spirit Blossom Ahri once the skin came out [because] I fell in love with it,” she said. We’re glad she did, because it turned out awesome. Naomi’s cosplay captured all the color and vibrancy that makes the skin so special, from the pink hair and ears to the multicolored outfit, and she even threw in the golden bells. It wasn’t easy to pull off, though. Cosplays that look as good as this Spirit Blossom costume take a lot of time and effort to complete, and Naomi admitted the hardest part was seeing it through to the end: “The most challenging part was getting the motivation to finish.” View this post on Instagram Fortunately, the feedback from her fans has been so good, it’s motivated her to keep the League of Legends cosplays coming. “My next cosplay should be of Battle Bunny Riven,” she said. “But I have tons of others in mind as I keep getting new ideas every week.” Read More: LoL cosplayer dances to K/DA beat as Kai’Sa – If you’d like to stay in the loop and see NaomiPeachu’s latest work, don’t forget to follow the League of Legends cosplayer on Instagram by clicking here.

  • League of Legends cosplayer channels the Void as deadly Kai’Sa – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer channels the Void as deadly Kai’Sa Riot Games, shikarakumiLeague of Legends’ mysterious daughter of the Void, Kai’Sa, has always been one of the game’s most popular ADCs, and one cosplayer has brought her to life with this spectacular LoL outfit. As League of Legends’ extensive roster of champions continues to expand with the release of Zaunite Chem Baroness, Renata Glasc, sometimes sticking to what you know is best. While Zeri continues to zip around the bot lane with Renata Glasc supporting her from afar, many ADC players still flock to Kai’Sa, the daughter of the Void, whose one-shot potential makes her evermore lethal the stronger she gets. To show the highly underrated markswoman a little bit of love, French cosplayer shikarakumi (Kumi) has recreated the volatile huntress in an outfit so spectacular you’d be forgiven for thinking it was a 3D render. League of Legends Kai’Sa cosplay is absolute perfection A League of Legends player of five years, Kumi passion for Riot’s hit MOBA stems from her love for its colorful cast. “League champions are absolutely amazing,” she told Dexerto. “I think the work of the artists who made all of the game’s artworks is so underrated. The LoL universe is so rich and complete, everything is so detailed. Champions are unique and they all have different personalities, abilities, and forms. I’m in admiration of digital artistry, and Riot has a really amazing digital art group! Did you watch Arcane?! If you didn’t, you MUST watch this masterpiece!” Choosing Kai’Sa because “she is a very interesting character,” she notes that the huntress “came from the Void, the darkest of places, so she has no fear. She is a powerful woman.” Calling the character “absolutely gorgeous,” Kumi’s rendition of the iconic ADC is equally as stunning. Sporting Kai’Sa’s lilac Void skin and shimmering facial markings, deep violet hair ripples down her shoulders. All eyes are on the fearsome Void symbiote that is welded into the back of her suit, though, as these eerie protrusions have been masterfully recreated. View this post on Instagram “I always create my cosplays with a digital part,” she states. “So to get a more realistic Kai’Sa, I used photoshop to add the 3D digital sculpture from Samuel Martins (I found his work on ArtStation!) which was made for the Season 12 cinematic.” View this post on Instagram Infected by both the Void and her love for League of Legends, Kumi’s LoL cosplay journey isn’t about to end here. “I have a long checklist of female LoL characters I’d like to cosplay,” she confesses. “I already made Irelia, Katarina, Yuumi, Ahri, and Kai’Sa in her dragon skin! Some seem old now that I’ve made some progress with the editing work, so I might make most recent versions of them!” Either way, all eyes are on Kumi as she continues to bring some of Runeterra’s most famous faces to life. If this stunning Kai’Sa is anything to go by, though, she’s definitely proven herself to be the huntress and not the prey.

  • League of Legends cosplayer channels inner ‘villain’ as K-Pop inspired K/DA Evelynn – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer channels inner ‘villain’ as K-Pop inspired K/DA Evelynn Instagram: decepticon.cosplay, Riot GamesLeague of Legends’ now iconic K-Pop group, K/DA, have won the hearts of fans across Runeterra, but this cosplayer hopes to break your heart in two with her alluring ALL OUT Evelynn cosplay. Riot Games are pretty damn good at fusing popular music culture with their iconic MOBA, League of Legends, with metal group, Pentakill, and K-Pop idols, K/DA, being the perfect examples. Comprised of Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’sa, K/DA’s chic outfits and classic dance moves offer a treasure trove of content for avid cosplayers. Of all four characters, the beautiful yet deadly Evelynn has attracted a whole host of artists with her devilish charm, but we’ve never seen anyone bring the demonic void creature to life quite like Russian cosplayer, decepticon.cosplay (Polina). K/DA Evelynn cosplay will catch you way off guard Telling Dexerto that she “explored the characters of LoL before I’ve started playing it and I found them really cool,” Polina notes that “the first thing I was attracted to were the game’s skins. Riot Games did a great job with the design. It looks like those guys created characters especially for cosplay. “Then I started playing and was excited, so I currently spend several hours a day in the LoL world. Then I watched Arcane, so now I can say for sure, that LoL is one of my favorite universes.” Electing to go for Evelynn because “I’m always into strong girls with kinda ‘bitchy’ faces, even though unfortunately I don’t have this type of face myself,” she confesses that “girls who can not only hold their own but are real bada**es (here comes also Jinx, Katarina, Vi), just fascinate me a lot.” “I’ve chosen the K/DA skin because it’s just bright and shiny, and actually I guess it has become the most popular in the cosplay society (I suppose because of the same reason as I’ve already mentioned). I also try to feel the pulse of my subscribers. If they like my Evelynn in her most popular skin, they will probably like to see me in her other skins.” And we’re pretty sure her followers will want to see more of Polina’s Evelynn. Lurking in violet-tinted shadows, glaring back into the camera while striking Evelynn’s signature pose, her shimmering jacket, and patent leather accessories dynamically reflect the light. With one sharpened talon between her teeth, you can’t help but want to walk straight into Polina’s web. View this post on Instagram While she reveals that this cosplay was bought because she “hates sewing,” and much prefers “making armor from EVA foam,” the outfit came with some difficulties. “After making this costume I have taken a break from making costumes at all. You know, it always looks easy at the beginning, but when you start you come across unexpected problems. But it really looks nice in the end, so I’m quite satisfied with the result.” View this post on Instagram She’s so satisfied that we can expect to see more League cosplays in the future – a whole lot of them! “I already have Katarina in my cosplay collection (she was the first one, with her I’ve started LoL cosplay journey.) What others do I plan on doing? I guess there’s no Evelynn without Akali! “I’m also thinking of some more Akali skins, and definitely dreaming to cosplay Vi, even though I have to beef up for her cosplay. I’m also thinking of Zoe and Lux but further into the future. And who doesn’t want to cosplay Jinx after that great Arcane series?!” And who doesn’t want to see more of Polina’s League cosplays after this stunning Evelynn? We can’t wait to see her Akali, but would also see her walk on the bright side as the perpetually peppy Lux – unless she goes for the Demacian’s Dark Cosmic skin, of course!

  • League of Legends cosplayer celebrates the festive season as Elf Jinx – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer celebrates the festive season as Elf Jinx Timber / Riot GamesA popular cosplayer named Timber decided to celebrate the festive season in style by cosplaying Elf Jinx from League of Legends. It gives the crazy and reckless champion a whole new look. There’s no better way to celebrate the festive season than to cosplay your favorite character with a Christmas-themed twist, and Ambitious Elf Jinx from League of Legends is a perfect fit. Jinx usually rocks an iconic punky look with blue hair split into two long pigtails, a lightweight purple and black outfit, and bulky leather boots. However, the Elf Jinx skin paints her in a different light. It makes her look like a traditional elf, complete with a red and white hat and outfit, green and red striped leggings, and pointy red shoes. It changes her hair from blue to blonde as well. She could easily be mistaken for one of Santa’s little helpers. Now that Christmas is around the corner, Elf Jinx has been popping up left, right, and center in League of Legends. It’s always a popular choice at this time of year. However, a cosplayer named Timber brought her to life in the real world, and she looks stunning. “You‘re my favorite waste of bullets,” she said, referring to one of the champion’s quote. “More Jinx content for you. The picture shows her looking the part, sitting on top of a toy train, surrounded by presents. View this post on Instagram The outfit is perfect from head to toe. However, the props and expressions are on point too. The smoking gun and elven look like the real deal. They tie in together perfectly with the devilish smile on her face. Timber was kind enough to let her fans see her Elf Jinx cosplay from a different perspective. The second picture has her sitting in a room surrounded by white walls, white presents, and even a frosty-looking tree. It makes her outfit look even more vibrant. View this post on Instagram It’s hard to find a cosplay that captures the spirit of the festive season better than this one. It’s something that anyone can enjoy at this time of time year, regardless of whether they play League of Legends. Timber has done an excellent job and deserves the thousands of likes that keep pouring in.

  • League of Legends cosplayer blooms like a flower as Spirit Blossom Ahri – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer blooms like a flower as Spirit Blossom Ahri Faid Eyren / Riot GamesSpirit Blossom Ahri is one of the most vibrant champion and skin combinations in League of Legends, but rather than trying to imagine how awesome she’d look in the real world, a cosplayer named Faid Eyren made it happen. League of Legends characters all have a unique look and vibe. However, it’s hard to name one more fascinating than Ahri, the Nine-Tailed Fox. She is a part of an animal-like race called Vastaya. They descended from enlightened mortals that harnessed power from the spirit realm. Ahri has that power too. Her abilities revolve around reshaping magic into orbs of raw energy. She’s also technically a Nine-Tailed Fox, with nine tails flaring out from her backside. Ahri’s default skin looks fantastic. However, Spirit Blossom Ahri looks even better. It has a more floral and mystical appearance, complete with pink hair, bright blue tails, and a majestic white and pink kimono. Faid Eyren is a brilliant cosplayer from Ukraine. In the past, she’s dressed up as everything from Demon Slayer’s Shinobu Kocho to Sword Art’s Asuna Yuuki. Now, she’s brought Spirit Blossom Ahri to life. “Every spirit forgets itself eventually, but I’m always on their horizon,” she said. “Finally, I’m happy to show you the result of our collaboration with @cosplaysky! I fell in love with this amazing costume immediately! It’s not just super beautiful, but very convenient to wear. It fits perfectly!” View this post on Instagram The costume, which was designed and tailor-made by cosplaysky, is stunning from head to toe. But there’s no denying that Faid Eyren wore it well and made it look like the real deal. Let’s not forget about ears from lulu_cosplayer and the photography edits from gaerwen_art, either, which rounded it off nicely. It’s hard to pull off Spirit Blossom Ahri since it’s one of the most majestic-looking skins in the game. However, Faid Eyren nailed it, and the overwhelming support and praise from her fans prove it.

  • League of Legends cosplayer cooks up fantastic Barbecue Leona – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer cooks up fantastic Barbecue Leona Munchkin Photos / Riot GamesA League of Legends cosplayer served up an incredible rendition of Barbeque Leona which included massive props to properly pull off old-school skin. League has over 150 champions, and each has multiple skins that players can choose from. This gives cosplayers a ton of options at their fingertips when it comes to creating their next design. Sometimes, Riot’s designs can get pretty wild. Whether in scope or theme, there’s plenty that would test a cosplayer’s talents in trying to piece a suit together. That’s why a ton of people are liking user okapishomapi’s cosplay, known as ‘makerfishmeal’ on Instagram, for Leona. Not only did she completely pull off the hard design, she made one of the goofiest (and highly-praised) skins look absolutely clean in real life. View this post on Instagram Now, League fans will know that the Leona skin has a big, plump sausage at the end of the solar pitmaster’s pitchfork. Instead of the normal-sized one in the character’s splash art, okapishomapi elected to recreate the monster version that’s seen in her in-game model. Using a PVC pipe and a whole lot of foam, okapishomapi was a mixed bundle of excitement and frustration while building Leona’s tricky accessories. Documenting her cosplay-making process, the creator said that the hardest part was keeping the sausage fixed to her five-foot fork since it had to look good, be lightweight, and hold its shape while being propped up. And that doesn’t even account for the technical challenge that it took to make a sizzling LED grill shield that the champion hoists on her other arm. As daunting as the weapon-making process must have been, the cosplayer gave just as much attention to detail to the lean, mean, brisket queen’s full attire to faithfully recreate the champ. Okapishomapi’s cosplay has been massively loved by the League reddit community, amassing over 11k upvotes and dozens more awards. There’s been Leona cosplays in the past that have also impressed, but this design mixes a great level of energy and craft to make something special.

  • League of Legends cosplayer takes center-stage as punky K/DA Akali – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplayer takes center-stage as punky K/DA Akali Riot Games / Instagram: @wanderlustlucaLeague of Legends cosplayers love dressing up as their favorite K/DA members, but it’s hard to find one better than Wanderlustluca’s take on Akali, which went viral on social media. Akali is one of the most popular champions in League of Legends, and for a good reason. She’s swift, deadly, and an all-around perfect assassin, which is no surprise given her title Fist of Shadow. However, she’s not all about bloodlust on the battlefield. Akali is also a member of the immensely popular virtual K-pop-inspired group, K/DA, along with Ahri, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa. But even though they all share the spotlight, she’s the only one who can rap. Wanderlustluca, a well-known cosplayer from the Netherlands, decided to transform herself into K/DA Akali for her latest piece. And, well, she just about broke the internet when she uploaded the pictures. She posted the first one on Instagram. “I was very excited to post this because I love how these turned out,” she wrote. I always feel so comfy as Akali. She fits my personality, I guess. I can’t wait to share more.” View this post on Instagram Her initial post has already pulled a whopping 19,000 likes, which is insane. However, that was only the beginning. She posted another set of pictures four days later, which included full-body shots that showcased the amazing cosplay from top to bottom. It performed even better than the first set, with more than 20,000 likes and 350 comments. Fans couldn’t get enough of the sparkly neon blue jacket, crop-top, and belt combined with the black tights. It looked like the real deal. View this post on Instagram If that wasn’t enough, the pictures also popped off in a thread on the official League of Legends subreddit with 7,000 likes and almost 500 comments. People described the cosplay as “amazing,” though a few complained about the potential use of photoshop. Either way, it doesn’t take away from the fact Wanderlustluca did an excellent job with the piece, and the overwhelming amount of praise and support is warranted.

  • League of Legends cosplay basks in the majesty of Lunar Empress Lux – Dexerto

League of Legends cosplay basks in the majesty of Lunar Empress Lux Riot Games / Wanderlustluca InstagramThe League of Legends community constantly creates some of the most impeccable cosplays for the MOBA’s various characters, but none are as immaculate as this rendition of Lunar Empress Lux. There’s no shortage of champions in Riot Games’s popular title for cosplayers to recreate, and the possibilities only multiply when considering the amount of alternate skins the company produces for the more popular entries. One such champ is the Lady of Luminosity, who has over 20 variations to her base design if you count all of the chromas for Lunar Empress and the different forms for the Elementalist set. Needless to say, there’s dozens of ways to make a good cosplay for Lux, but designer ‘Wanderlustluca’ put together an incredible costume for the Lunar Empress that is immaculate in its presentation. Capturing the stoic charm of the demigoddess, Wanderlustluca stayed true to the original design with the slight exception of her wings. Dismissing this detail, the cosplayer truly looks the part. She remade the dark green/blue tunic from the game along with all of the intricate markings that run down the dress. Viewers can tell that meticulous design work was incorporated into the outfit, especially for the decorative brooch atop Lux’s snowy white hair. Though that level of attention extends from head to toe, since the gold trim of the Lunar Empress can be seen throughout Wanderlustluca’s outfit – most notably the golden emblem depicting an animal at the center of the cosplay. The cosplayer spared no expense when adorning herself to the many bracelets and charms the Lux skin features, like the gold wrist guard on the left hand. In its 10 years of life, League of Legends has inspired many designs from cosplayers across the net. From Sneaky’s famous takes on Caitlyn to diabolical Jinx renditions from other fans, costumers get pretty creative with their respective craft. Fans would be hard-pressed to find a champion that hasn’t been given a cosplay, but even then, someone would likely come along to fill in the gaps just as fast. Needless to say, the art form truly makes a League of Legends character shine when it’s done as expertly as Wanderlustluca’s Lunar Empress Lux cosplay.

  • Colorful League of Legends Arcane Jinx cosplay is Silco’s perfect weapon – Dexerto

Colorful League of Legends Arcane Jinx cosplay is Silco’s perfect weapon ithileryn, Riot GamesLeague of Legends’ now iconic Netflix show, Arcane, has taken the world by storm, and in order to celebrate the LoL series getting a second season, one cosplayer has created the perfect Jinx cosplay. As the first chapter of Riot Games’ League of Legends-inspired story, Arcane, comes to a dramatic close, fans both old and new are on the edge of their seats just dying to see how the epic tale pans out. Some of these avid watchers have gotten creative, bringing characters like Piltover’s Mel Medarda and Jayce to life with spectacular cosplays. The Arcane party wouldn’t be complete without the woman of the hour herself, though, and Texan cosplayer ithileryn (Eryn) has brought Jinx to life in an outfit that would make Silco proud. League of Legends cosplayer slays as Arcane Jinx Telling Dexerto that “long before I played the game, I enjoyed looking through the champions and all their skins, along with reading their backstories,” she confesses that “it’s hard to look through Riot’s huge roster of gorgeous characters and NOT do a League cosplay.” Calling the franchise “cosplay heaven,” she states that “Jinx is my spirit character! I remember seeing her many years ago, long before I cosplayed, and I was immediately drawn to her. The colors, the long braids, the guns, and her smile are just so adorable! She was stealing the show for me then and she still is now.” Noting that “she also happens to be my main in League and in Wild Rift,” she’s done her favorite markswoman justice with this beautiful recreation of her. Sporting that iconic cobalt braid and matching nails, Eryn truly embodies both the innocence of young Powder and the ferocity of Jinx. Donning a perfectly crafted replica of the unfortunate anti-hero’s brown crop top and matching accessories, from the wispy cloud tattoos on her arm to the tips of her toes – Eryn is Jinx. View this post on Instagram “This costume was a bit more difficult than some of my others, simply due to all of the accessories I decided to make from scratch,” she told Dexerto. “I made all 7 belts with EVA foam, and sewed the same black stretch faux leather I used for the top to the foam to make them look like real leather belts.” The main thing we all want to know, though, is just how she made that wig. “I cut bangs into a base wig from Arda Wigs, and sewed in wefts to make the braids very long,” she explained. View this post on Instagram It turns out that while Jinx had stolen her heart long before Arcane, the show has reignited a fire within this talented artist. “Arcane exceeded my expectations, and is easily the best show I’ve seen in 2021,” she enthuses. “The character development is strong, and even the villains are sympathetic. The story is captivating, and even though I was well aware of how some of the champions would end up from reading League lore over the years, Arcane continued to surprise me and keep me on the edge of my seat.” Concluding that Riot “made Runeterra feel real,” she’s doing a pretty good job of that herself! As the series progresses we’ll maybe see her transform into yet another champion – maybe one we haven’t even met yet. Until then, though, we really wouldn’t want to be Eryn’s enemy…

  • League of Legends Arcane cosplayer reinvents the Hextech wheel as Viktor – Dexerto

League of Legends Arcane cosplayer reinvents the Hextech wheel as Viktor Netflix: Arcane, Instagram: geheichouRiot Games’ League of Legends-inspired Netflix show, Arcane, has taken over the latter half of 2021, and one cosplayer’s rendition of LoL fans’ beloved Viktor has stolen the Hextech spotlight. If there’s one show that has become the talk of the gaming universe in 2021, it’s Riot Games’ League of Legends-inspired animated Netflix series, Arcane. With a cast of colorful characters and a musical score that you’ll likely have saved on Spotify already, a whole host of cosplayers have already brought characters such as Jinx, Jayce, and Mel to life. However, we’ve never seen anything quite like Gehe’s work. The Spanish artist has brought LoL mid-lane champ turned Arcane heartthrob Viktor to life in a cosplay that has us looking like that little heart eyes emoji. Spectacular League of Legends Arcane Viktor cosplay Telling Dexerto that he has “been playing League for over six years now,” he was “was really excited when announced an animated series based on it!” Selecting Viktor as his muse of choice as he was “the one most physically similar to [him]self,” he confesses that, while the cosplay itself was “nothing intricate really,” he’s “not used to having to do heavy makeup characterization for other cosplays since most characters from anime and video games don’t have such detailed and realistic features. So, that was definitely a challenge.” Taking a total of five hours to pull together the look and photoshoot, in comparison to “other cosplay projects that have taken me over 5 months, it was an easy one!” Despite all of this, this outfit truly takes out breath away. Sporting the Zaun scientist’s messy brown hair and iconic silver waistcoat, it’s the makeup that truly transforms Gehe into Viktor. Hooded eyes stare off into the distance, with the darkness contrasting perfectly against his pale skin and gaunt cheekbones. View this post on Instagram A huge part of creating these stunning images was capturing the moody, hopeless atmosphere of both Arcane as a whole, and Viktor’s ongoing struggle with a life-threatening illness. “It was also important to set up the photo studio with fitting lighting to imitate the colors on Arcane,” he told Dexerto. “I used the lighting in specific angles to enhance my facial features and make them more similar to Viktor’s.” View this post on Instagram With the next chapter of the Arcane story lurking on the horizon, will we see Gehe reprise his Viktor cosplay? Or will we get something new? “Arcane has me very hyped to make more League cosplays for sure. But besides that, I’m also a concept artist and character designer myself, so watching such a creative and rich series has given me a lot of inspiration to draw, and I can’t wait for the next season to be out!” Whether it’s more League characters (Gehe has also created Ezreal, Yone, Aphelios and Gnar cosplays), or a creation of his own, we can’t wait to see what this mad scientist turned artist extraordinaire does next!

  • League of Legends Arcane cosplayer pummels Zaun’s enemies as fearsome Vi – Dexerto

League of Legends Arcane cosplayer pummels Zaun’s enemies as fearsome Vi Netflix: Arcane, Twitter: JasikyuLeague of Legends’ now-iconic Netflix show, Arcane, delved even deeper into the lore behind Vi, LoL’s fan-favorite jungler, in turn inspiring one cosplayer to create an awesome outfit. While cosplayers have always flocked to the League of Legends universe due to its diverse range of unique champions, Riot Games’ LoL-inspired Netflix show, Arcane, has sent the MOBA’s popularity through the roof. We’ve seen spectacular recreations of every character from the show; from the loose cannon Jinx, to the tortured yet relatable Viktor, but what we haven’t seen is a Vi outfit quite like this one. Created by London-based cosplayer Jasikyu (Jasi,) this spectacular recreation of Zaun’s finest pugilist will have your jaw on the floor (hopefully not because she broke it, though.) Arcane Vi cosplay KOs the competition Out of Arcane’s lovable cast of misfits and anti-heroes, why did Jasi specifically go for Zaun’s resident heroine? “League is my most played game, and I’m very passionate about the characters,” she told Dexerto, choosing to recreate Vi as she “was one of the main protagonists of Arcane.” Despite her love for the character, she admits that this cosplay was a little harder to pull off than other costumes she’s created. “It was a little more difficult as I don’t usually cosplay short-haired characters. Plus, the character is a tough nut and it was very hard for me to capture her personality.” However, we reckon she managed to epitomize the jungle champion to perfection – even if it was a step out of her comfort zone. Choppy pink hair ripples down one suede shoulder, with her navy undershirt and snow-white corset recreated immaculately. Of course, the outfit wouldn’t be complete without that shaved left eyebrow and the tattoos, especially the iconic little ‘VI’ stamped on her upper left cheekbone. Perfectly styled and ready for battle, we really wouldn’t want to mess with Jasi’s Vi. View this post on Instagram Of course, it goes without saying that Arcane has inspired her to create more characters, specifically Jinx and Caitlyn, both of whom she’s played since Season 4. “I really loved Arcane,” she confesses, noting that “the little easter eggs and [the] soundtrack were so amazing.” Enthusing that “I really hope to see more characters from League come to life in future seasons!” it’ll be interesting to see which character she chooses to transport into reality. As we cross our fingers and chug some shimmer, be sure to keep an eye on her Twitch to see who she disguises herself as next.

  • League of Legends Arcane cosplayer lets loose as explosive Jinx – Dexerto

League of Legends Arcane cosplayer lets loose as explosive Jinx Instagram: lilya0o / NetflixLilya ‘Lilya0o’ Victorovna has dished up another fantastic cosplay, and this time, she brought Jinx, one of the pivotal characters in League of Legends Arcane, to life in incredible detail. Arcane, the critically acclaimed animated Netflix series that takes place in the League of Legends universe, took the world by storm in November 2021. The first season explored the backstory of Vi and Jinx. Not only did it increase the pick rate of these Champions in League of Legends, but it also sparked a trend in the cosplay community. Amazing Jinx cosplays started popping up all over the internet, like this one right here. It was only a matter of time before Lilya0o, a popular cosplayer who is a bit of an expert when it comes to League of Legends characters, caught wind of the trend. She’s already cosplayed other Champions like Ahri, Lux, and Soraka. They were all fantastic. Now, she’s raised the bar even higher with a stunning take on Jinx to celebrate Arcane’s success. It’s got everything from the blue braided hair and pink, black, and purple outfit to all the little bits and pieces like tattoos, gloves, bandages, and a single knee-high sock. View this post on Instagram It’s not the first time Lilya0o has impressed us with her fantastic cosplays, and it certainly won’t be the last. Arcane Season 2 has already been confirmed. It won’t be happening in 2022, but thankfully cosplays like this will keep us all sane in the meantime.

  • League cosplayers go all out with “the Baddest” K/DA: Akali, Ahri, more – Dexerto

League cosplayers go all out with “the Baddest” K/DA: Akali, Ahri, more Instagram: Glorylamothe / Riot GamesK/DA has got a new look with their latest EP, “All Out,” on the horizon. The four League of Legends popstars, plus a special guest, have replaced white, purple, and gold with blue and black, and this Argentinian cosplay group has encapsulated their spirit perfectly. K/DA are ready to make their grand return. The mega-popular League of Legends K-Pop group are just about to release their first EP, “All Out.” They’ve already debuted their pre-release single, “The Baddest,” sporting a new look from their POP/STARS days. On the EP, the four League of Legends idols — Akali, Ahri, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa — will be joined by new popstar Seraphine. While Seraphine is new to the League universe, her voice, looks, and Twitter account has already won over the hearts of players. K/DA alone is hugely popular to cosplay, but their new designs haven’t gotten much love yet. However, an Argentinian cosplay group has gotten together to showcase the group in action, including the newest member Seraphine. Valentina Kryp (Kai’Sa), Feli Tabby (Akali), Luchi Quinteros (Seraphine), Peyton Riley (Ahri), and Glory Lamothe (Evelynn) have really gone all out to get K/DA’s new look down pat. No expense was spared by the group. They managed to design almost everything, from Kai’Sa’s blasters, to Evelynn’s backpiece. While there’s no Ahri tail, it doesn’t take away from how true-to-form these cosplays are. It looks just like the promo images Riot have been putting out. With the metallic blues and blacks, down to Seraphine’s colorful hair and dress, the group are more suited for a real album photo shoot than just a cosplay one. View this post on Instagram It’s not their first rodeo as K/DA either. The group has cosplayed the base set of skins for the pop group before. It makes it a bit easier when trying to design the new costumes, although they still had to do most of the things from scratch due to the drastic color changes. K/DA’s first EP, All Out, is releasing on November 6. Before then, the group will be performing at Worlds 2020 in Shanghai on October 31, where Seraphine is expected to make her debut with the group.

  • League cosplayer takes the throne as Blade Queen Lissandra – Dexerto

League cosplayer takes the throne as Blade Queen Lissandra Gran Rojo Fotos / Riot GamesThe Blade Queen Lissandra skin makes one of the fiercest League of Legends champions look even more imposing on the battlefield, and a cosplayer named Aoi Akari brought it to life. Lissandra, the Ice Witch is a popular choice among League of Legends players for a reason. She boasts the incredible power to combine ice and dark magic into something terrible – black ice. She already looks intimidating by default, but the Blade Queen Lissandra skin makes her even scarier. Still, it hasn’t stopped League of Legends cosplayers from embracing their dark side and using their own magic to bring her to life in the real world. Aoi Akari is a popular cosplayer with all kinds of stunning outfits. She’s created and worn almost everything under the sun. In one of her latest cosplays, she decided to show Blade Queen Lissandra from League of Legends some love. The cosplay is perfect from head to toe. If you look closely, the attention to detail in everything from the skin tone and nails to the armor plates and headpiece is ridiculously good. The crests, patterns, and gems really stand out and look like the real deal. Even a brief glance on your feed is enough to spot the beautifully interwoven shades of green, purple, and brown. They all blend together in perfect harmony, and the awesome background effect makes it even better too. View this post on Instagram Aoi Akari was kind enough to include pictures with different angles and perspectives too. This one is a little closer and provides a better look at the headpiece and shoulders, which is definitely the highlight of the piece. But again, the attention to detail really shines through. Even the vicious snarl and lipstick tone are on point. Aoi Akari hasn’t missed a single thing, and her finesse is second to none. View this post on Instagram The heart and soul of any cosplay piece is how authentic it looks. Aoi Akari hit the ball right out of the park with her Blade Queen Lissandra piece. It’s a work of art as far as craftsmanship goes. However, she looks absolutely fantastic wearing it too. Her expressions and poses give off the right vibe. It really feels like Blade Queen Lissandra is staring into your soul.

  • League cosplayer gets straight A’s with Battle Academia Katarina outfit – Dexerto

League cosplayer gets straight A’s with Battle Academia Katarina outfit Instagram: Angie Arrow / Riot GamesRussian Instagram model Angie Arrow has wowed League of Legends fans again with her true-to-life Battle Academia Katarina costume — after her last Caitlyn cosplay went viral, you won’t want to miss this! Katarina is one of League’s most popular champions, boasting an 8.2% pick rate according to stat site U.GG. It makes complete sense then that she would be one of the heroes picked for the new My Hero Academia-inspired skin line. The mysterious assassin retained much of her personality in the shift to Durandal Academy. According to her skin bio, she’s a “rough-edged loner”. She also apparently “stays far away from the politics” of the famous magic school. Not only that, but the reimagined 2nd-year student is also “a top member of the Assassin Club”. Above all, Academia Katarina is a student with a “chip on her shoulder”. That fits perfectly with the Sinister Blade’s personality. All of that dark, edgy beauty, and more, was captured by Arrow in her BA Katarina cosplay too. From the black zip jacket, to her bright and bold hair — at odds with her character — the Russian model got them all just right. Arrow’s perfect cosplay preparation brings Katarina to life The Russian star captured Katarina’s Durandal Academy variant skin perfectly. Strelnikova wore the aforementioned black jacket and pink hair. She also found a pink necktie just the right length for the cosplay centerpiece. The League cosplayer finally — or probably first, considering how you normally get dressed — donned a tight white academy top, buttoned to her neck. She also had Katarina’s thigh-high leggings on to complete the top to bottom look. Arrow also made the interesting choice to pair her cosplay with a PS4 controller. At the moment, LoL can only be played on PC. The Russian explained she thought it fit Katarina well, and said it would have been “boring” to use a mouse & keyboard. View this post on Instagram The 25-year-old’s stunning take on Battle Academia Katarina isn’t the only League cosplay she’s pulled off in recent times either — before her latest outfit, the Russian all but became Caitlyn with another perfect costume. Arrow is far from the only cosplay model to craft a costume from Riot’s global MOBA title either. Kathleen Wong took a spellbinding Bewitching Miss Fortune to PAX, while Kitz Cua brought Battle Bunny Riven to life for Easter.

  • League cosplayer shatters shackles as incredible unchained Sylas – Dexerto

League cosplayer shatters shackles as incredible unchained Sylas Instagram: taryn_cosplay / Riot GamesCosplayer ‘Taryn’ has blown League of Legends fans away yet again, breaking the shackles with an incredible Sylas cosplay that has risen to the top of the fandom in break-neck speed. Sylas is one of the most popular champions in League of Legends. In-game, he’s a menace to try and stop with all of his healing and high burst damage. However, his design has also wooed the hearts of many fans. While there’s been some attempts at Sylas cosplays in the past, Taryn might have just taken the cake for the best one we’ve seen yet. The cosplay is described as the “first outcome” of lockdown, having worked on it in private over the last few months with no conventions on the horizon. “Here we are folks, no more cages! Finally I can show you the first outcome after the quarantine situation,” the cosplayer said on Instagram. Even though he won’t get to debut this cosplay in person anytime soon, it’s still a stellar showoff piece online. From the slicked-back hair, down to the fine details on Sylas’ robe, Taryn has perfectly replicated the Demacian mage in real life. He’s even added a couple of extra effects to really sell the cosplay too. Taryn is radiating in a blue magical hue — the same as Sylas does when he’s on the Rift. While he’s completed the gauntlet, he’s also added on the broken chains, not just ending at the character’s clothes. The cosplay is only helped out by Taryn’s physique. The cosplayer is absolutely jacked, and to help his case, he perfectly uses makeup to really amplify Sylas’ appearance in real life. https://www.instagram.com/p/CBYhVmPDnRl/ Taryn’s Sylas cosplay has obviously been a massive hit in the League community, skyrocketing to the top of Instagram. It’s not the first time Taryn has found acclaim in the fandom though, with his Sett cosplay back in January completely winning players over. As he mentioned in his post, this is only the first project he’s been working on since being locked inside. League players can certainly have plenty more to look forward to in the coming months as Taryn reveals what his next work is going to be.

  • League cosplayer ready to prowl this Halloween as Bewitching Nidalee – Dexerto

League cosplayer ready to prowl this Halloween as Bewitching Nidalee Riot Games / Instagram: ariatamagotchiNidalee has been a staple hero in League of Legends for a long time. But cosplayers like ‘ariatamagotchi’ are keeping her fresh with an excellent recreation of the Bewitching skin, fangs and all.[jwplayer V7KFXiLn] Nidalee is one of the most iconic champions in the game. She’s something in between a woman and a beast, and she’s a master tracker with sharp instincts and claws who can shapeshift into a cougar whenever she wants. What’s more, she’s still a top-tier pick and one of the most contested junglers, even after all this time. Of course, she’s one of the more difficult champions to play. But in the right hands, she can single-handedly turn the tide of the game. It’s not hard to see why she’s so popular among players. But she’s a popular choice among cosplayers too. After all, she’s the perfect icon and symbol for embracing your wild side and letting loose, and that’s exactly what ‘ariatamagotchi’ did in one of her latest cosplays. https://www.instagram.com/p/CGNYVJvB9Tw/ “I did this Bewitching Nidalee using what I had in my wardrobe,” she told her fans on Instagram. It features everything from the fangs, the hat, the hair, the make-up, the clothes, and of course, the gem. “I edited on the gem also, the ones I had were way too big.” She was even kind enough to include a list of all the products she used. It had everything from concealer, exit gel liner, and an eyebrow pencil, to fly liner, bronzer, a sandstone palette, and more. It’s incredible what talented cosplayers like her can do with whatever bits and pieces they have available. She’s put together a stunning piece. The standout for us has to be the fangs, which look like they were plucked right out of Nidalee’s mouth. Nidalee’s Bewitching skin might look easy to re-create at first glance. It could be a simple as slapping on some overalls, a witch hat, and a bit of face make-up. But it’s hard to find one with as much attention to detail as this one. The quality shines through. If you’re interested in seeing more incredible cosplays we’ve uncovered, you can find them all here.

  • League cosplayer descends from the heavens as amazing Dragonslayer Diana – Dexerto

League cosplayer descends from the heavens as amazing Dragonslayer Diana Instagram: anaelic_ / Riot GamesDiana has descended from the heavens of Mount Targon here on Earth — or so you could be mistaken into thinking. Scottish cosplayer ‘anaelic’ has once again delivered the goods for League of Legends fan, putting on an epic display with her Dragonslayer Diana cosplay. Seeing a Diana cosplay for League of Legends is rare. However, finding an exquisite one is almost impossible. The Scorn of the Moon, with her heavy armor and massive Moonsilver blade, isn’t up there with one of the popular champions to cosplay. However, that hasn’t stopped anaelic from creating one of the best — if not the best — Diana cosplay with her incredible rendition of the Lunari’s Dragonslayer skin. Anaelic has been working on her Dragonslayer Diana cosplay since lockdown began. She was originally going to take it to conventions, but with 2020 stopping all of those, she instead used the project as motivation. “This project has instead been my distraction, the thing that’s kept me motivated to stay productive, and I’m so proud that I at least have this to show for all the extra time I’ve had,” she said on Instagram after completing her cosplay. You can tell just how much effort she put into it right from the first glance. Anaelic has managed to recreate the Aspect’s sunset-colored armor perfectly, not forgetting a single panel on Diana’s intricate outfit. She managed to keep all the pieces together with velcro, although the cosplay is — understandably — very hard to get around it. “I honestly don’t know how I’m going to survive a full day at a con in this cosplay because it is so hard to move about it! It was well worth it though because we got some amazing photos,” she added. View this post on Instagram Anaelic also considered all the small details — she recreated the smoky effect on her blade with a smoke machine and LED lights built into the crescent. The cosplay is not only one of the best Diana ones we’ve seen, but one of the best cosplays of the year. Period. The Scottish cosplayer isn’t stopping here though. If you’re wondering what anaelic’s next project is, wonder no more. She is currently working on a Spirit Blossom Lillia cosplay, and she’s trying to make it perfect from head-to-hoof. We’ve even covered her progress on it so far!

  • League cosplayer delivers justice as Arcane’s fearsome Vi – Dexerto

League cosplayer delivers justice as Arcane’s fearsome Vi Riot Games, theelfinartistArcane, Riot Games’ League of Legends-inspired Netflix show, thrust fans into the turbulent world of age old champions Jinx and Vi, but one cosplayer has brought the pink-haired powerhouse to life with this stunning cosplay. As Riot Games continue to go from strength to strength following the triumphant release of their League of Legends-inspired Netflix show, Arcane, cosplayers from across the globe have recreated the show’s now iconic champions in droves. We’ve seen stunning renditions of everyone from main antagonist, Jinx, to an insane recreation of fan favorite inventor turned Shimmer-obsessed scientist, Viktor. Up next on cosplay hitlist is Powder’s tortured sister, Vi, who has been brought to life by LA based cosplayer theelfinartist (Brie) in an outfit that will have your jaw on the floor (probably because Vi put it there). League of Legends Arcane Vi cosplay is spectacular They note that they’re not a huge League of Legends player — but they’ve learned a lot about the game’s characters and lore. “I’m not a hardcore LoL gamer, but many of my friends are, so I’ve gotten to experience it through them and have always been inspired by the gorgeous characters’ designs and exciting lore!” they said. “I’ve cosplayed from LoL a few times before, and when Arcane came out I was absolutely obsessed with both the story, characters, and gorgeous art. I had to bring these kick-a*s characters to life!” Starting their Arcane cosplay journey as Jinx, Brie was quick to bring Vi to life, too. “Vi is another favorite character of mine and her character speaks volumes to me,” they told Dexerto. “I relate to both of the sisters so much, but I’m also a sucker for strong-willed characters with muscles and tattoos so I knew I had to do my own spin on Vi with some casual and fashion cosplays of her.” Brie’s cosplay isn’t the conventional red leather jacket, though, as they wanted to put their own spin on Zaun’s feisty fighter. “Usually I make my cosplays from scratch (like I’m doing with Jinx) but with Vi, because I was taking a fashion spin on the concept, I only made the wig and then shopped and styled her outfit from my closet, tweaking things as needed.” It’s the unconventional nature of this cosplay that makes it so unique, however, as we can imagine this fashionista version of Vi stalking plague-ridden streets of Zaun in search of their beloved Powder. Steampunk-esque tattoos snake down their arms, with a white sports bra hugging tightly to their muscled form. Wispy magenta hair ripples down to their shoulders, and that iconic facial tattoo peeks out from beneath hooded eyes. View this post on Instagram Speaking of that stunning wig, it was this that caused Brie the most trouble. “The wig was actually completely reconstructed from a different LoL cosplay wig that I had used in the past!” they state, recalling “the wig was very resistant to the dying process, which made it a bit more intense of a styling job than I originally intended.” View this post on Instagram For those (like us) who are obsessed with Brie’s fashion twists on classic characters, fear not! There are more League cosplays in the works. “I’ve already cosplayed Evelynn, Akali, and I’m working on finishing my Jinx cosplay, but I have plans for more Arcane characters and other Akali designs!” Will we see Brie transform into Piltover’s finest sheriff, Caitlyn? Or is Viktor more up their alley? Time will tell, but until then we can’t get enough of their Vi.

  • League cosplayer dances into battle as stellar Divine Sword Irelia – Dexerto

League cosplayer dances into battle as stellar Divine Sword Irelia Riot Games / Instagram: NymphahriIrelia might not be up there with the most popular champions to cosplay in League of Legends, but ‘nymphahri’ has taken the community by storm with her breathtaking Divine Sword Irelia. [jwplayer V7KFXiLn] Irelia isn’t just a fighter. She’s an eloquent one, using graceful movements on the battlefield to carefully tear through her enemies with her blades. She is steadfast to her Ionian spirit, remaining dedicated to protecting her homeland. While she managed to fight back Noxus after the invasion with her dancing blades, she still yearns for peace in the region, where she can go back to dancing alone. The League of Legends champion has a wonderful story, but she doesn’t find herself in many cosplays. However, cosplayer ‘nymphahri’ has done Irelia justice, taking on her special Divine Sword Irelia skin and doing so perfectly. Nymphahri has gotten the majestic costume down to a T. It’s an elegant dress fit for a dancer, with plenty of whites, golds, blues, and browns. The royal headdress is also a nice touch. However, looks can be deceiving. Nymphahri’s Irelia cosplay definitely captures how dangerously lethal Irelia can be, even designing the champion’s blades for the cosplay. While she has Ahri in her name, this cosplay is seemingly one of nymphahri’s most popular. It’s easy to see why — when a under-represented champion gets such a stellar cosplay, fans from all departments flocked to praise it. The cosplayer put a lot of effort into it, and she even said that it was one of the hardest cosplays she’s done to date. While she didn’t love it at first, she grew into it. View this post on Instagram “I made this cosplay last year and I’ve been really unlucky with it, both on personal and cosplay sides. So I decided to give it a try again because I worked a lot on Irelia’s swords and structure. Now I feel a little better about this costume,” she said on Instagram. With Nymphahri feeling confident in her Irelia cosplay now, one can only hope she can dust it off at a convention soon and really let it shine.

  • League cosplayer comes out from the shadows as amazing Akali – Dexerto

League cosplayer comes out from the shadows as amazing Akali Instagram: Miciaglo / Riot GamesEver seen a League of Legends cosplay so good that Riot can’t help but share it with the world? Well, now you have, with Sweet Angel’s take on Akali taking League players by storm. Akali is one of League of Legends’ most popular characters to cosplay. Whether it be her default skin, or the mega-popular K/DA variant, people love to show off as the Ionian assassin. However, few manage to grab the eyes of Riot as much as Sweet Angel. The talented Italian cosplayer decided to take on Akali as her most recent project, and while the costume looks simple, it was anything but. “I thought it was a simple costume, but it required a lot more attention and time than I thought,” she told fans on her website. It took Sweet Angel about 100 hours all up to create the Akali cosplay — and you can see every bit of hard work and time that went into it. From the handmade wig, to the dress, and even Akali’s smoke bombs, Sweet Angel didn’t miss a beat. Everything that you see was basically handmade. Sweet Angel sewed all of the fabrics together, stitched everything up, and made it tailored not only to herself, but true to life to Akali’s design. She even designed Akali’s signature Kana, using EVA foam so she can carry it around without too much hassle. • League cosplayer brings dreams to life as amazing Spirit Blossom Lillia – Dexerto

League cosplayer brings dreams to life as amazing Spirit Blossom Lillia Riot Games / Instagram: anaelic_League of Legends cosplayer ‘anaelic’ has taken players by storm with an enchanting Spirit Blossom Lillia, bringing the Bashful Bloom to the real world — including the four legs. Lillia might have only recently arrived onto Summoner’s Rift, but League of Legends fans have already fallen in love with the Bashful Bloom. She was whipped into a lore whirlwind on release with the Spirit Bonds event, where fans got to know the new champion a little bit better. Her design has also inspired many cosplayers. However, none are yet to take on Lillia quite as impressively as Scottish cosplayer anaelic. She decided to pick up the League of Legends champion as her next project shortly after her release, and has been working on a full head-to-toe cosplay — or should we say, head-to-hoof. Right now, anaelic has finished the more ‘human’ elements of Spirit Blossom Lillia. This includes her ornamental dress, which is a mix of fabrics tied off with a neat ribbon. On top of that, she’s 3D-printed Lillia’s horns, holding them together with a flower on her head. The costume is still a work in process for the Scottish cosplayer though. She still intends on getting ears and a wig, and she is even going to go the extra mile to create Lillia’s censor. After all, anaelic wants this to be her “biggest cosplay yet.” “I’m making good progress with this cosplay so far, and I’m nearly finished all of the sewing parts. I ordered some more materials this week and I am very excited because I have some really cool plans for how to make some certain aspects of it,” she told fans on Instagram. This progress includes Lillia’s centaur body — which anaelic is designing from scratch, with a bit of inspiration from Ginny Di’s Centaur of Attention book. She hasn’t quite finalized that section yet, but it’s on its way. View this post on Instagram 🌸 Spirit Blossom Lillia 🌸 I mini costest I did for Lillia today!💕 Please note that this costume is still a WIP, which is why I have no ears and an uncompleted wig!😅 I also have to figure out a better way to attach the horns lmao I’m making good progress with this cosplay so far, and I’m nearly finished all of the sewing parts. I ordered some more materials this week and I am veryyyyy excited because I have some really cool plans for how to make some certain aspects of it..👀 This is definitely going to be my biggest cosplay yet! 🍃 Horns: 3D modelled & printed by me, available to buy on my store! {#leagueoflegends#leagueoflegendscosplay#leaguecosplay#spiritblossom#spiritblossomcosplay#spiritblossomlillia#lilliacosplay#lolcosplay} “Am I making the centaur body?! The answer is yes! I’ll be following Ginni Di’s amazing method in her Centaur of Attention book, so I’ll be referring to that a lot in this build,” she added. That’s pretty impressive considering she’s coming off the back of an incredible Dragonslayer Diana cosplay, where she donned herself head to toe with armor, and handcrafted Diana’s sickle too. If you want to catch the final version of anaelic’s Spirit Blossom Lillia cosplay, be sure to check out her Instagram page. If this is only the beginning of it, imagine how it’s going to look by the time it’s finished!

  • League cosplayer blooms like the Desert Rose as PsyOps Samira – Dexerto

League cosplayer blooms like the Desert Rose as PsyOps Samira Instagram: neytiritv / Riot GamesSamira might be a new addition to the League of Legends roster, but cosplayers are already giving the Desert Rose some love. None have done it better than ‘neytiri’ though, who has pulled off Samira’s PsyOps skin perfectly. Samira has only been out in League of Legends for a matter of weeks. However, cosplayers are already flocking to design their next outfits around the Noxian marksman. The Desert Rose, with her swagger and style, might be a far cry from the ever-popular K/DA cosplays going around, but that doesn’t make any effort any less impressive. League of Legends cosplayer and streamer ‘neytiri’ has put her own take on Samira’s PsyOps skin, and it looks like it’s straight off of Summoner’s Rift. Neytiri managed to put together the cosplay shortly after Samira’s reveal. It was on the request of many of her fans, who said that she would fit the bill perfectly. “So many people requested I cosplay her after her photos were released, I hope you enjoy how I brought her to life,” she said on Instagram. Neytiri’s Samira cosplay features the leather jacket and camo pants that feature in the PsyOps skin. Her purple hair is just like Samira’s in-game, and she crafted an eyepatch for herself that replicates the one found in the skin. She even found the perfect pistol to accompany the cosplay, playing into Samira’s explosive blades and bullets playstyle. View this post on Instagram It’s a perfect replica of the new Noxian’s style in-game, and her fans have fallen in love with it. They weren’t wrong about neytiri being a perfect fit for Samira — she has absolutely done the skin justice with her cosplay. It’s only early days for people to jump on the Samira cosplay train, but it’s likely this one is going to be one of the greats for a long time yet. It’s the most popular one by far, and it’s for a good reason.

  • League cosplayer makes a splash with amazing Pool Party Zoe costume – Dexerto

League cosplayer makes a splash with amazing Pool Party Zoe costume Instagram: liha_cos / Riot GamesKorean cosplayer ‘Hanna’ has made a splash in the League of Legends community after unveiling an amazing Pool Party Zoe design, just in time for the weather to start warming up. While it’s a bit hard to go to the beach right now, there’s no denying — at least in the Northern hemisphere — that summer is on its way. What better time to debut an amazing beach-inspired cosplay from LoL? Korean cosplayer Hanna has showed off her amazing Pool Party Zoe costume just in time for the warmer weather, and it’s got us all wishing we could dive in the ocean. Hanna shared the cosplay for the first time to her adoring fans on Instagram on March 22, and it was met with much praise. The casual cosplay of League’s space wanderer might seem pretty stripped back, but the smaller details Hanna added really bring it all together. It might seem as simple as donning a green dress — which she perfectly tailored for herself to look just like the in-game art — and a blue wig, but there are smaller parts to the whole design all over. From the small rubber ducky floaties on her arms, to the flowers in her hair and the cuffs dotted around the place, Hanna’s cosplay ticks every box. https://www.instagram.com/p/B-EDYJmBknb/ Pool Party Zoe isn’t Hanna’s first League of Legends inspired cosplay. The Korean designer loves to work with the Riot-developed MOBA franchise, cosplaying characters like Riven, Lulu, and Orianna in the past. She’s also done designs for local Korean teams, like Gen.G and SK Telecom T1, developing team specific cosplays for Nidalee and Nami respectively, and even did a Cyber Pop Zoe cosplay for the League 10 celebrations in October 2019. While those designs are a bit more extravagant than her most recent Zoe one, every cosplay is just as impressive as the rest when it comes down to the finer details. https://www.instagram.com/p/B4oamtUBNeu/ Sometimes in cosplay simplicity is the way to go, and this Pool Party design shows just paying attention to the smaller details can really make a cosplay click. LoL fans can probably expect more Pool Party cosplays to make their way into the limelight as the weather warms up too, even if everyone is locked inside for now.

  • Korean cosplayer stuns League fans with Winter Wonderland Neeko cosplay – Dexerto

Korean cosplayer stuns League fans with Winter Wonderland Neeko cosplay Twitter: 2yuran_ni / Riot GamesKorean cosplayer ‘Yuran’ has blown League of Legends players away with an amazing rendition of Winter Wonderland Neeko that looks so uncanny to the real thing, you could be mistaken for thinking it was one of her clones. Neeko is one of the more interesting champions in League of Legends to cosplay. The chameleon of the Rift was released at the tail end of 2018, and has the ability to transform into any champion in the game. While shooting clones from Runeterra into the real world wasn’t written in the patch notes, this Winter Wonderland Neeko cosplay from Yuran makes us think otherwise. Sharing the cosplay to her fans on Twitter, Yuran’s Neeko impression was absolutely on the money. She crafted all the clothes from scratch, trying to get her cosplay as close to the original as possible. She also tried to replicate the chameleon’s body paint and make-up from head to toe. From the markings across the shapeshifters legs, to the bright purple make-up on her face, Yuran made sure no detail was left unnoticed. She also nailed Neeko’s elaborate headdress on the skin. The ice crown looks just as majestic in real life compared to in-game, with the perfect backdrop for the photoshoot summing up how all the little things help make this cosplay one of the best we’ve seen. リーグ・オブ・レジェンド – ニコ League of Legends – Winter wonder Neekocosplay. @2yuran_ni photo. junpyo.k pic.twitter.com/eSnareyZZg— ユラン🌸yuran (@2yuran_ni) February 5, 2020 The Neeko cosplay is Yuran’s most loved project yet, garnering over 700 likes on Twitter since the grand reveal in February. • Kim Possible cosplay brings back iconic childhood crush with chic Shego – Dexerto

Kim Possible cosplay brings back iconic childhood crush with chic Shego Twitter, @toripareno / DisneyKim Possible’s Shego is one of the most iconic antagonists in cartoon history, and Luminosity Gaming’s content creator, Tori Pareno, has brought the villain back to life. Although Kim Possible’s last episode aired in 2007, the show continues to live on to this day in our cultural cloud, consistently re-emerging on Halloween with Kim’s trademark cargo pants – and now, in cosplay as Pareno has recreated Shego’s striking look. Shego was no ordinary villain, but a sassy boss with super powers, a temper and some serious charm. Rocking a tight catsuit, long dark hair (as referenced by Jack Harlow in his 2020 hit, “What’s Poppin’?”) and an attitude, it’s no surprise that Shego is one of the most infamous childhood crushes in animated history. Undertaking some artistic liberties, Pareno has now forced thousands to remember their early infatuations. Shego was hit with a comet as a child, granting her the superpowers of green flames of energy and an appearance with a pale green skin tone. While fully invoking Shego’s somewhat green skin may have been one way to do things, Pareno decided to embody the look with a green contour against pale makeup—juxtaposed against the sharp contrast of Shego’s black upper lip, sharp, dark eyebrows, and vivid green eyes, the content creator looks every bit as distinct as her inspiration. As for the rest of Pareno’s ensemble, she locked it down. A master of stealth and subterfuge, Shego’s fit is emblazoned with a dazzle camouflage, much like UK and US warships used to confuse enemies in World War I. Down to the mismatched gloves, Pareno efficiently recreates this puzzled green and black look. As an added bonus, she even edited in a green flame while maintaining Shego’s signature frowns—probably lighting the flames of nostalgia in hundreds of hearts. Pareno doesn’t typically partake in cosplay, instead running Twitch streams of games like Oxygen Not Included and Resident Evil 3 or making content for YouTube and TikTok. In fact, she calls this her first official public cosplay ever – likely because she didn’t create the outfit used in August, 2019 when she recreated Emilia from Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu. https://www.instagram.com/p/B1VB9AVnt1t/ While she may have admittedly forgotten to do a TikTok dance for this Shego look, fans will be sure to forgive her for it since the antagonist isn’t really the type to do cute dances for views, anyway. And it seems that Pareno is intent on doing more, asking fans who she should cosplay next in her Instagram post. So far, Viper from Valorant seems to be the front-runner as another combat-proficient lady with a taste for green clothing.
