Avatar: The Last Airbender has many lovable characters, from the naive and innocent Aang to the stalwart and stubborn Toph Beifong. However, none of them are more universally adored than Katara. Introduced as a warm, compassionate, and somewhat maternal character, Katara never loses her way, even when she becomes a powerful waterbending master capable of healing her allies and even bloodbending her enemies. A brilliant cosplayer named Jazmine Leija graced her fans with an incredible take on Fire Nation Katara. It holds a candle to some of the other amazing cosplays she’s done in the past. It was difficult to pick the best shot since there are many incredible ones to choose from. However, the most popular one is a full-body shot of her standing on a weathered shoreside rock bending water in her hands. Jazmine captured all the essential details, from the messy free-flowing hair to the multi-layered Fire Nation outfit, complete with a neckpiece, bracers, and sandals. Special credit goes to Photography By Raul for the brilliant camera work. View this post on Instagram In one of the other photos, she provided a side-by-side comparison of the two outfits. It also allows fans to get a closer look at all the details, which look even more vibrant with the different lighting. Her outfit is a splitting image from the one in the show. Fans described it as everything from “amazing” and “stunning,” and the praise is well-deserved. View this post on Instagram All in all, it’s a brilliant transformation into Katara and another masterful piece by Jazmine. The Blue Spirit and The Painted Lady brought to life Cosplaying duo ‘vsol_cosplay‘ and ‘outlaw2lk‘ shared their Katara and Zuko costumes on Instagram, accurately recreating their secret identities The Painted Lady and The Blue Spirit. The myth is about a phantom lady from the lake that surrounds the village. The two cosplayers bring the characters to life with their insanely detailed costumes, such as Katara’s intricate red makeup and flowing veil hat, and Zuko’s iconic mask and his two swords – making this a dream collaboration. https://www.instagram.com/p/B5skWvhjQ0m/ While Prince Zuko is first introduced in very beginning of the series, his alter-ego the The Blue Spirit is first seen in episode 13 of Season 1 with an episode all about his secret identity. The banished prince wears a blue and white samurai style mask, over his black attire, while wielding dual broadswords that can actually be combined as they are both one side of the same weapon. The Last Airbender is constantly praised as one of the best animations of all time. Made by Nickelodeon, the series follows 12-year-old Aang – an Air Nomad destined to be the Avatar who gets trapped in ice for 100 years. After he’s awakened by Southern Water Tribe siblings Katara and Sokka, he discovers he’s the last of his kind left, and that the Fire Nation has taken over the world. In Book One, the trio come together to form the beginnings of Team Avatar, and travel to the Northern Tribe where they’re introduced to Princess Yue, a non-bender and daughter of Chief Arnook. Talented fan ‘c.harmante’ created an amazing cosplay of the royal character that will be sure to blow fans away. Avatar cosplayer becomes Yue The first thing you notice about Charmante’s cosplay is her wig. It replicates the Princess’s hair to a tee, right down to the white braids that frame her face and the ornate decorations . She even nailed the two hair loops at the top of her head, finishing it off with a beautiful green and gold hairpiece to tie it all together with perfect accuracy. The fan shows off how much she looks like the character by putting her work next to a screenshot from the show. Pulling a displeased facial expression, it’s clear just how accurate her take really is. https://www.instagram.com/p/CBbX5sgjaKQ/ In another shot, the artist gave fans a closer look at the outfit she chose to replicate Yue. Since she lives in the Northern Water Tribe in the North Pole, it’s obviously freezing cold. She decided to wrap up in a white, fluffy wrap to represent this, mimicking the character’s wooly hood on her royal uniform. The fan also wore a blue outfit underneath, matching the colors of the Princess’s Tribe attire. Charmante is a perfect fit for Yue, and brings the character to life. • Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer turns up the heat as Princess Azula – Dexerto

Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer turns up the heat as Princess Azula Instagram: Ithileryn / NickelodeonAn Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplay went viral after bringing Fire Nation princess Azula to life with a fiery costume. The artist’s perfect recreation of the villainous Firebender will certainly turn up the heat for every fan. The Last Airbender first debuted on Nickelodeon in 2005, and the epic story of a world of elemental benders quickly became a cult classic. In 2020, Netflix picked up the series and breathed new life into the already massive Avatar fandom. Dedicated cosplayer Ithileryn, a self-professed Avatar diehard, has transformed herself into the show’s popular antagonist, Azula. The Fire Nation princess has never looked so confident as Ithileryn puts her own fiery twist on the TLA villain. Azula serves as The Last Airbender’s main antagonist for most of the show, after her brother Zuko fails to apprehend the Avatar. The princess is ruthless, deadly, and comes armed with blue fire and lightning as one of the Fire Nation’s most powerful firebenders. The villain’s prowess on the battlefield feeds into her cocky character. She knows she’s the best, and proves it too — if not for Katara reviving Aang, she would have succeeded in her mission to end the Avatar line during the battle for Ba Sing Se. Cosplayer Ithileryn captures that self-assured confidence perfectly with her Azula Avatar cosplay, as she shows off her work with a huge cocky smile spread across her face. The costume is on-point too: she gets the deep red robes just right. The real details are in the makeup the model wears to make it look like the fiery princess had let out of the screen into real life. Her pale white skin matches Azula’s perfectly, as does her short-cut hair and golden hair clasp. View this post on Instagram Finally, Ithileryn clearly understands the wild, fiery character to a tee — she’s got the wild eyes just right in her self-created masterpiece, complete with sharp, black eyebrows, deep red and black eyeliner and a wickedly-dark line of lipstick. “Azula has been a dream cosplay of mine for a while!” she said. “I finally tracked down a wig I could use, and it came in right when Avatar was released on Netflix. Perfect timing! I hope you enjoy this sadistic fire nation princess as much as I do!” Ithileryn is far from the only The Last Airbender fan to bring the Fire Nation princess to life in the time since Avatar released on Netflix either. Last week, leiracosplays debuted her take on Instagram, complete with Azula’s royal robes. Other artists have also taken that next step in their Azula costumes too, adding flame effects to capture the princess’ bender powers. Crystalprismcosplay captured it best with shining blue columns of flames as she unveiled her costume in May.

  • Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer sunbakes on the beach as gloomy Mai – Dexerto

Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer sunbakes on the beach as gloomy Mai Nickelodeon / Instagram: @gemdaee.cosplayMai is the gloomiest character in Avatar: The Last Airbender, but fans have warmed up to her thanks to her undying love for Zuko, and one took her adoration to the next level with an epic beach cosplay. Avatar: The Last Airbender fans can relate to all the main characters in different ways. However, none captured the emotionless and apathetic phase that some teenagers go through better than Mai. Mai was born into a wealthy family and always got what she wanted. Her parents raised her to be quiet, well-behaved, and respectful at all times. As a result, she kept her deepest feelings and emotions hidden and rarely expressed herself. However, she developed strong feelings towards Zuko, which ultimately brought her out of her shell. Eventually, her love for him became so strong, it drove her to turn her back on Azula. Mai is also an expert markswoman capable of beating powerful benders. She uses throwing knives and arrows to incapacitate opponents, and her accuracy is second to none. Mai’s interesting mix of personality traits, skills, and character development has seen her become a popular character among fans and cosplayers. But while we’ve seen many good cosplays, a cosplayer named Gemchan re-created Mai to perfection. However, instead of wearing Mai’s traditional outfit, she opted for the swimwear she wears in Season 3, Episode 5: The Beach. It’s a classic episode in which Azula, Mai, Ty Lee, and Zuko are on vacation and try to act like typical Fire Nation teenagers. View this post on Instagram Gemchan nailed the outfit, which consists of a red bikini top with matching pants and a sarong. But the highlight is definitely the hair, make-up, and contact lenses, which make her look like the real deal. Like all talented cosplayers, she also acted the part, which is perhaps equally important as the outfit. She pulled off Mai’s trademark apathetic expression and vibe perfectly. It’s exactly how you’d imagine her to look in real life. All in all, it was a stunning piece from top to bottom. More than a thousand fans have shown their support by liking it on Instagram, and there’s no doubt that many others will follow.

  • Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer spices things up as Fire Nation Katara – Dexerto

Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer spices things up as Fire Nation Katara Smolplumeria / NickelodeonKatara is an incredibly popular character in Avatar: The Last Airbender, but while most cosplayers dress up in her traditional outfit, one decided to spice things up with a Fire Nation twist. Avatar: The Last Airbender is special because all the characters have remarkable depth and growth as the plot moves forward. However, Katara already shows signs of remarkable maturity in the first episode, and it develops even more as the plot moves forward. Katara has her ups and downs like anyone else, but the cool, calm, and collected water bender is the cornerstone of Team Avatar. Her influence and guidance play a pivotal role in helping Aang achieve his destiny. But although she starts as a supportive member of the team, Katara becomes an incredibly powerful water bender and combatant. She even manages to match the almighty Princess Azula. Katara is a popular choice among Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayers. Most of them dress up in her traditional water bender attire. However, now and then, you’ll see a cosplayer slip into the Fire Nation outfit she wore early on in Season 3. Natascha, better known as smolplumeria on Instagram, is one of those people. She looked amazing from head to toe. “Ok, but can y’all hear me crying over this photo? I love it so much,” she said. • Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer smolders as scarred Zuko – Dexerto

Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer smolders as scarred Zuko Instagram, @angryroni / Nickelodeon[jwplayer MDxzN19r]Fire Lord Zuko is hot-headed and a little insecure about his scar. A cosplayer, ‘angryroni,’ has brought Zuko into 2020 with a moody, lustrous look that rocks his iconic scar proudly. When you first meet Zuko in Avatar: The Last Airbender, he is a hot-headed, dishonored antagonist who wants nothing more than to earn his father’s praise. By the end, he has grown and learned to value himself. Had he mastered makeup as gracefully as angryroni, maybe he would have valued his pensive look and statement scar a little sooner. Avatar is back in the limelight this year, especially now with Netflix upping the series’ quality to HD. The cartoon classic is fine art, practically untouchable and communally adored—to the extent that it’s honestly impressive the M. Night Shyamalan-directed live-action film even got to 5 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. Unlike Shyamalan’s historic failure, angryroni chose to lean into Zuko’s signature characteristics instead of pushing away from them in some misguided effort to achieve realism. Like the stark colorful contrasts of the animated series, angryroni uses makeup to accentuate the Fire Lord’s vibrant eyes and captivating scar. https://www.instagram.com/p/CBq41AjDtxN/ Highlighting the obvious attention to detail for Zuko’s face, achieved with contrasting makeup, angryroni frames the look with a wig that is perfectly raggedy—suiting the moppy hairstyle that embodied the character’s tumultuous internal development. The failure of Shyamalan’s effort can’t solely be placed on his shoulders, just as Zuko can’t be entirely faulted for being a jerk for much of the series. It’s hard to be a quality person when your dad is evil and, similarly, it’s hard to make a great reboot of a series that is already such an infallible icon. But Shyamalan tried and we were left with a tattered Zuko, devoid of his signature, glowing honey eyes or aesthetically dominant scar. No matter how true to his personality the actor, Dev Patel, could be, this Zuko incarnation proves why angryroni’s is such a success. The best Fire Lord look is one that brings out the character’s muted heat, reflecting his internal passion and struggle with a heated palette juxtaposed against muted expressions. What angryroni does here is distinct and, ultimately, superior. Instead of shying away from Zuko’s look, he amplifies it. The burgundy outfit, lined with shining gold, is excellent—but it’s the exaggerated facial features, rather than expressions, that make this a captivating cosplay. Funnily enough, even the poorly lip-synced Tik Toks of songs and dialogue feel like Zuko too. A moody teenager dealing with emotional development? Of course he’d be dropping pensive videos with a dangling earring in 2020.

[jwplayer V7KFXiLn] The Last Airbender is one of the most popular animated series, and so we often see plenty of Avatar cosplays. Main characters like Katara, Azula, and sequel hero Korra are the regular picks, but Instagram cosplayer Sanet has broken the mold. The Ethiopian cosplayer, who has wowed fans as Katara and Kakeguri’s Yumeko Jabami in the past, has unveiled her take on Northern Water Tribe princess Yue, who plays a major role in the show’s iconic — and heartbreaking — Book 1 finale. Yue is the northern tribe’s future chieftain, and becomes friends with Team Avatar. She even falls in love with Sokka, and the two sneak away for rides on Appa and secret meetings. In the battle at the Spirit Oasis, however, Yue sacrifices herself to save the Water Spirit. She then “becomes the moon,” as Sokka so succinctly puts it later in the series. She captures all the regal aspects of the future Moon Spirit, with her shining white braids and ornamental hairstyle a standout part of the outfit Sanet posted on Instagram late last month. The Yue cosplay also includes three blue jewelry pieces, which keeps Sanet’s huge headpiece in place. She rounded this out with a fluffy coat, which Yue wears in the Northern Tribes to keep herself warm — it’s cold up there! Finally, Sanet added a light ring to one of her shots to light up the Yue cosplay. This was to capture the moment the water princess made her sacrifice, and took up the Moon Spirit mantle, a defining moment for the water princess. View this post on Instagram Sanet’s stunning cosplay isn’t the last we’ve seen of her as Yue either. The Instagram model promised she would be unveiling more parts to the costume in the near future, once she was done designing the water princess’ full spirit dress. “This is simply a cos-test,” she explained. “I’m planning on making her moon spirit dress in the future! [This one] was a new and tedious process, but it all worked!” So, keep your eyes peeled for more Avatar cosplays from Sanet soon, because they’re on their way! While you wait, you can check out more too; just last week, a new Katara cosplay rocked the internet, and there’s plenty more too!

  • Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer shines bright as Fire Nation Katara – Dexerto

Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer shines bright as Fire Nation Katara Nickelodeon / Instagram: sanet.cosplayAn Avatar The Last Airbender cosplayer has lit up the internet with her jaw-dropping Katara cosplay, unveiling her stunning take of the “inspirational” anime heroine’s iconic Fire Nation disguise on Instagram earlier this week. Katara has been a “special” heroine for many since she first debuted in the opening episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender all the way back in 2005. The passionate water bender became Avatar Aang’s best friend, and helped him achieve his destiny against Firelord Ozai. The heart of Team Avatar also became an icon outside of The Last Airbender too; for many, including cosplayer Sanet, Katara “held a very special place in the hearts of many black and brown girls” who watched the 2005 cartoon series. So, when Sanet had the chance to cosplay Katara’s Fire Nation disguise, which she wears early in Season 3, the Instagram model jumped at the chance. Avatar superfan shines with Katara cosplay Sanet’s cosplay was certainly jaw-dropping, especially with how simple a Katara Fire Nation cosplay can be. The Avatar cosplayer paired a one-sided bright red top with a darker fabric to make the stand-out Katara outfit. The main part of the cosplay, however, was the wig Sanet donned to create the costume. The water bending heroine wears her hair in a wound-up bun as part of her Fire Nation disguise, and the Avatar cosplayer pulled it off with style. Finally, she added Katara’s jewelry for a finishing touch — she pulled on two gold bracers and Katara’s upper arm cuffs. The piece that brought it all together was the red and gold choker, marked with the three bronzed gems. https://www.instagram.com/p/CEUtEUwD3o3 Katara “inspires” as Avatar heroine Funnily enough, Katara isn’t actually Sanet’s favorite character — Toph holds that place in her heart — but she does love what Katara meant for young girls as “the only dark skin girl in a popular animated series” all the way back in 2005. “Katara is such an amazing character… the Avatar fandom needs to cut her some slack!” she told Dexerto after posting her cosplay. “Let’s be honest, none of us could have done what she did at 14 years old.” “She is such a passionate and strong female character who shaped her own destiny, and I love her for that. I started watching Avatar when I was 10, and Katara was one of the only dark-skinned characters. 10-year-old me saw myself in her.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CEZ3xa-JLxU Luckily, the Katara cosplay wasn’t too hard to put together either. Once Sanet got her hands on the headpiece, she just sewed together the two pieces of the costume, and added a few pieces of jewelry to bring it all together. “I cut a red fabric in a right triangle. Then I ended up tying two pieces behind my back and the other on my bra strap to hold it all together,” she admitted. “My favorite part of the entire cosplay was the neckpiece — I think it really gave it that Fire Nation feel.” Good news too if you loved Sanet’s take on the Avatar heroine; she’s already teased another cosplay in the near future. “I may or may not have a Korra cosplay planned in the future,” she said. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled!

Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer rules the Fire Nation as Azula Nickelodeon / Instagram: @crystalprismcosplay / @solitadelacruzphotographyAvatar: The Last Airbender’s Azula was brought to life by a cosplayer’s fiery take on the iconic villain. The artist transformed herself into the Fire Nation princess and will wow fans with her scorching blue flames. Avatar first aired on Nickelodeon in 2005, and became a cultural phenomena for the animation network. The series centered around a monk named Aang who could bend the elements of earth, water, air, and fire. The artist’s faithful depiction of the character is one of the best we’ve ever seen. Cosplayer brings Avatar’s Azula to life Azula serves as the main antagonist for most of the series. The ruthless villain stops at nothing to hunt down the Avatar, and is a serious threat to the protagonist. Her firebending is so deadly, her fire burns blue. • Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer rides the waves as stunning Katara – Dexerto

Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer rides the waves as stunning Katara Chonibu/NickelodeonOne cosplayer and Avatar: The Last Airbender fan has absolutely blown our minds with her amazing take on the best (and only) water bender from the Southern Tribe – Katara herself. In Avatar: the Last Airbender, Katara is actually the character who first discovers the lost Aang frozen inside of an iceberg floating near the South Pole. From there, she goes on to be a key part of Team Avatar, and has without a doubt become a favorite for fans of the series. Thus, cosplayer ‘chonibu’ decided to take a swing at portraying her own Katara – and we think it’s pretty safe to say she absolutely knocked it out of the park. Chonibu almost perfectly recreated the character’s iconic blue tunic, and her hairstyle is a dead ringer for the water bending master. Really, the only thing missing is the necklace Katara got from her mother, which the cosplayer admitted she’d forgotten because she was so excited to take pictures of her creation. “This costume was a pretty easy piece to make,” chonibu told Dexerto. “I got most of it done in about two days. The part that gave me trouble was this swirly thing on the bottom of the dress/tunic, which required a lot of pins and yoloing underneath the sewing machine. I also got so excited to take photos that I completely forgot her necklace.” Why she chose Katara is interesting, as well; yes, she’s an awesome character in the show, but chonibu’s decision to portray her didn’t stem from just that fact. “I chose to make Katara’s costume partly because I could use my real hair (trying to shove long, curly hair in a wig is a pain),” the cosplayer admitted. “I think as a character, she is stronger and more inspiring than I could ever be at 14! And I’m so glad that ATLA is on Netflix, because it’s one of my favorite shows of all time (and also my dad’s).” As for what’s next on the horizon for chonibu, she told Dexerto she’s definitely interested in portraying Katara, Korra, or even Sokka’s forlorn love, Princess Yue. “I have actually made Katara’s fire nation outfit and one of Korra’s outfits!” chonibu revealed. “One of my dream shoots is to make Katara’s winter outfit or cosplay Princess Yue and shoot in the snow.” Whatever she decides to do next, as long as it’s on the same level as her Katara, we’re sure it will be out of this world (especially if she picks Yue – sorry, Sokka).

  • Avatar The Last Airbender cosplayer ready to lead Fire Nation as Princess Azula – Dexerto

Avatar The Last Airbender cosplayer ready to lead Fire Nation as Princess Azula NickelodeonAzula is one of the most complex and twisted characters in Avatar: The Last Airbender, but that didn’t stop a cosplayer named Lauren Ginna from bringing her to life in a blaze of glory. Avatar: The Last Airbender is known for having strong characterization and character development throughout the series. But while most of them learn and grow as the plot moves forward, Azula descends further into madness and emotional instability. It’s a dark and tragic fate for one of the show’s most powerful villains, but it’s one that’s earned her compassion and sympathy among fans. Plus, there’s an eerie charm to her manipulative ways. So, despite her ominous persona, she’s become a popular choice among cosplayers. A cosplayer named Lauren Ginna, better known as thefanged4 on Instagram, is one of her biggest fans. She impressed her fans with an incredible Azula cosplay back in November, and it’s been on their minds ever since. “Trust is for fools. Fear is the only reliable way,” she said, referring to one of her most powerful quotes. It just about sums up Azula’s philosophy and approach to life, which was ingrained into her throughout a traumatic childhood. View this post on Instagram Not only does she capture Azula’s ominous look and vibe, but she managed to re-create her outfit to perfection. It’s got everything from the Fire Nation crown in her hair to the black, red, and gold outfit complete with shoulder pads, a belt, and lengthy boots. Lauren posted another picture back in December. This one has Azula’s infamous blue flame added in with an after-effect, and it looks absolutely stunning. “My own mother thought I was a monster. She was right, of course,” she said, referring to another iconic quote. View this post on Instagram Last but not least, Lauren shared one final picture from the photo shoot to celebrate the beginning of 2021. “Kicking off the New Year with Azula,” she said. It shows her unleashing a mighty kick well above her head, revealing more details in the bottom half of the outfit. It’s one thing to dress up as Princess Azula. But to walk, talk, and act like her takes a special effort, especially when you need to tap into your crazy side and dish out a thunderous kick. View this post on Instagram It’s a stunning outfit from head to toe. Every detail is perfect, and the artistic photography from carlosmphotos_ makes it look even better. Lauren and Carlos are both incredibly talented, and their talent shines through. Azula might be one of the most maligned characters in Avatar: The Last Airbender, but that doesn’t mean fans don’t love seeing her in real life, especially when it’s done as well as this.

  • Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer rallies the Kyoshi Warriors as Suki – Dexerto

Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer rallies the Kyoshi Warriors as Suki NickelodeonAvatar: The Last Airbender fans love Suki for her strong personality and impressive skills, but one cosplayer took her adoration to another level with a magnificent cosplay. In the grand scheme of things, Suki is a relatively minor character in Avatar: The Last Airbender. However, she’s more than a mere love interest to Sokka. She’s a skilled combatant and the mighty leader of the Kyoshi Warriors. Beneath her tough and assertive exterior, she’s compassionate, loyal, and committed to doing what she feels is right. A combination of all these qualities, mixed with her sarcastic sense of humor, has seen her become a fan-favorite. Suki is popular among cosplayers too, since she wears all kinds of different outfits. There’s everything from her traditional Kyoshi Warrior uniform with and without the face-paint to her Earth Nation and Fire Nation outfits. Eylon has dressed up as everything from Sucy from Little Witch Academia to Misty from Pokemon. Her work has already attracted more than 30,000 followers on Instagram. However, she upped her game even more as Suki from Avatar: The Last Airbender. “Suki is one of my most elaborate cosplays,” she said. “Hannah Alexander’s designs are always so detailed, I absolutely love working on them. This little video was taken for the online cosplay contest of Gamescom this year.” View this post on Instagram The outfit is flawless from top to bottom. Hannah Alexander’s craftsmanship is second to none, and the attention to detail is mindboggling. The dress has different green shades interlaced with subtle patterns. It’s complemented even further by the brown armor plates with gold seams, as well as the bracers and headpiece. The gold fan ties it all together perfectly and makes it look like the real deal. However, Eylon deserves some credit too. The hair and make-up are on point, and she looks stunning. She even uploaded a before and after photo to show off her impressive transformation into Suki. “Suki is maybe the furthest away from me in real life,” she said. “She is such a bada**, strong and independent woman while I’m a weak, way too emotional girly girl, but I really like cosplaying her.” View this post on Instagram Eylon might not feel like she has much in common with Suki. However, she looks the part and deserves all the praise she’s getting. Hannah Alexander’s was already astounding, but it looked even better on Eylon. Hopefully, it’s not the last time we’ll see the two of them work together to bring a character from Avatar: The Last Airbender to life.

Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer braces for battle as fearless Suki Nickelodeon / Instagram: Jazmine LeijaCrafty cosplayer Jazmine Leija has added another masterpiece to her collection by bringing Suki, the fearless leader of the Kyoshi Warriors in Avatar: The Last Airbender, to life. Avatar: The Last Airbender might have aired over a decade ago, but it’s still a special show to many people around the world all these years later. A big reason for that is its characters. Suki is one of the few supporting characters who can’t bend an element. However, she is incredibly skilled in hand-to-hand combat and proficient in wielding war fans and a katana, making her an asset to Team Avatar. Her skills and leadership qualities play a pivotal role throughout the story. Eventually, she becomes the leader of the Kyoshi Warriors, an order of female warriors who serve to protect her homeland, Kyoshi Island. Jazmine is one of the most talented cosplayers in the scene. She’s done it all, from My Hero Academia’s Froppy, to Demon Slayer characters Mitsuri Kanroji and Shinobu Kocho, and Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender. It was only a matter of time before she cosplayed another character from the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe, and this time, it was Suki. “Suki is beauty and grace, but she will also punch you in the face!” she said. Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer perfects waterbending as Katara Nickelodeon / Instagram: @victoriaecsA cosplayer named Victoria Camargo has kicked up a tidal wave on social media after transforming into a stunning version of Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Avatar: The Last Airbender is still as popular as ever after all these years. The characters and their transformations from innocent and naive children into responsible young-adults still resonate with fans today. However, Katara seemed mature for her age right out of the gate. It probably had a lot to do with the fact she lost her mother at an early age, and her father went off to fight in the Hundred Year War. Still, that didn’t stop her from developing into one of the most powerful water-benders in the world. Her maturity, compassion, and guidance also played a pivotal role in keeping Team Avatar in line. Katara’s admirable qualities and skills have seen her become one of the most popular characters in the show. Cosplayers like can’t get enough of her, either. However, a cosplayer named Victoria Camargo has made a massive splash with her astonishing transformation. “It’s not magic. It’s water-bending,” she said. The costume, which was created by Panditakuma, looks phenomenal. However, somebody still has to wear it to bring the character to life, and Victoria nailed it. View this post on Instagram Everything from the hair and eyes to the costume and props is spot on. However, the incredible photography from azazzelphotography and the after-effects added by moped_1 are fantastic too. In a second shot, they somehow made it look like Victoria is water-bending in real life. “The moon is the source of power in water-bending,” she said. “The original water-benders learned to bend by observing how the moon pushed and piled the tides.” View this post on Instagram Katara cosplays are always popping up left, right, and center on social media. But even though they’re all impressive, Victoria’s has been a smash hit. Fans of the show can’t get enough of it. Hopefully, it’s not the last time we see her dress up as someone from Avatar: The Last Airbender. It will undoubtedly be another masterpiece to add to her already impressive list.

  • Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer masters waterbending as Katara – Dexerto

Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer masters waterbending as Katara Instagram: @lux_lisa / NickelodeonAvatar: The Last Airbender has many characters that fans wish existed in real life, but one cosplayer took matters into her own hands and became Katara herself with a mind-blowing cosplay. [jwplayer MDxzN19r] Katara is one of the most beloved characters in Avatar: The Last Airbender. Fans are drawn to her kind and compassionate personality and the fact she’s more mature than the others. It’s no surprise, then, that she often acts as the mother of the group. Katara is the cornerstone that others fall back on throughout their trials and tribulations, and she always knows the right thing to say. However, Katara is more than a typical matriarchal archetype. She undergoes an incredible transformation as the series progresses. She learns and grows as a person, but she also masters water-bending and becomes one of the strongest characters in the show. Still, despite all that, and despite being tested and pushed to the edge herself, she never loses sight of who she is. Katara remains true to herself, and the characteristics that define her never fade. Unfortunately, words aren’t always enough to convince people how awesome a character is. Sometimes you need to see it to believe it. That’s exactly what a popular cosplayer named lux_lisa_ has done. She teamed up with s.photography_b and together, they brought Katara to life in the real world — let’s just say, the results were absolutely stunning. View this post on Instagram Lux_lisa_ looks perfect from head to toe. Everything from the hair, the eyes, the outfit, the wrist-guards, and the pose is spot on. The photography is top-notch too. However, what makes this cosplay all-the-more special is the wonderful water-bending effect. It’s hard to believe since it looks so good, but s.photography_b claims it wasn’t photoshopped at all. Instead, it was made possible thanks to a little help from some friends. Two of them synchronized throwing buckets of water, while lux_lisa_ posed to her heart’s desire and s.photography_b snapped shot after shot. It was an awesome team effort and one that would make Team Avatar proud. The cosplay and effect combination looks even more impressive in a second shot. It even includes what looks like an ice-cave in the background. View this post on Instagram Katara is one of the most popular characters in Avatar: The Last Airbender. Naturally, that means cosplays pop up left, right, and center and they’re all brilliant in their own right. However, it’s hard to find one that captures the art of water-bending so elegantly. And it’s even harder to find one that does so without adding an after-effect on photoshop. Still, as awesome as the effect is, let’s not take away from the fact that lux_lisa_ wore the outfit to perfection. At the end of the day, cosplays are more about the outfits themselves, and Lisa’s certainly was incredible!

Avatar The Last Airbender cosplayer masters chi blocking as cheerful Ty Lee Instagram: @supersailorvirgo / NickelodeonAvatar: The Last Airbender cosplays are always a treat, and a massively popular cosplayer named Elle, also known as Sailor Virgo Cosplay, did fans proud with a wonderful take on Ty Lee. Ty Lee is one of the most likable characters in Avatar: The Last Airbender, which is a little odd since she was first introduced as a villain of sorts. However, fans couldn’t help but be drawn to bright and bubbly personality. But even though she’s genuinely sweet and charming compared to Azula and Mai, she proves to be a powerful adversary to Team Avatar for most of the show thanks to her hand-to-hand combat and chi blocking skills. Not only can she target pressure points to wear opponents down, but she can also temporarily paralyze them with a critical strike and even stop them from bending elements, which ends up being a handy tool. • Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer makes a splash as Katara – Dexerto

Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer makes a splash as Katara Instagram/behemoth_cosplay/NickelodeonNorth California-based model behemoth_cosplay showed off her impressive take as Avatar: The Last Airbender’s Katara with a neat action shot with some waterbending action. Taking to Instagram, the cosplayer, whose first name is Megan, uploaded a photo of herself dressed as Katara. What makes the photo special, aside from the great outfit, is the neat water effect. In the photo, taken by fellow cosplayer, awesomejaymee, Behemoth is seen controlling water with her right hand while some swirls in her left. It’s a nice touch that adds some flair to an already solid cosplay with all the right looks. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7oXPEdjd6n/ With her hair, Megan purchased a wig from Arda Wigs called “Danny in cool brown.” It does a nice job at matching Katara’s hair, which changes styles several times during the series. For her eyes, she decided to use mystery blue contacts from TTDeye to imitate the waterbending master. The rest of the costume was made by the cosplayer herself, and it too looks ripped directly from the American animated series. https://www.instagram.com/p/B71KDVhjyXW/ Behemoth even went out of her way to craft a necklace identical to Katara’s grandmother’s, which the character wears. Finally, the cosplayer’s blue robe syncs up with the one Katara wears quite nicely. And, may we add, looks quite comfortable too. Overall, the whole get up really captures the essence of the waterbender and is a fine example of a well-crafted cosplay. This isn’t the only outfit that Behemoth has come up with either. She’s also dressed up as Jasmine from Disney’s Aladdin, Freddy Kreuger from Nightmare on Elm Street, Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII and Dragon Ball Z’s Goku. https://www.instagram.com/p/B4SeF6eDBjH/ Now that is one heck of a diverse lineup of cosplays spanning many genres and franchises. It would seem like the model can do anything she sets her mind to and we can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve for future cosplays.

I’m so happy I went to Katsucon this year since it ended up being the only one I went to.” “Here’s the cosplay I made for it,” she added. “Art Nouveau Toph! I am incredibly proud of the work I put into it, and I’m happy I got to wear it to such a pretty con! One day maybe I’ll wear it again.” View this post on Instagram Emma managed to capture all the crucial elements of Toph’s everyday outfit. It includes the green and beige garments, the hairstyle tucked under a headband with a flower, and of course, contact lenses to match her eyes. Cosplayers and their fans know how much time and effort it takes to re-create an outfit faithfully. However, it takes creativity, talent, and courage to add your flair. Emma nailed it, and the thousands of likes she’s getting are a testament to that.

The Last Airbender originally made its debut on Nickelodeon in 2005, and became a cultural phenomena, even spawning graphic novels and a spin-off series. The show centers on a monk named Aang who can bend the four elements of water, earth, air, and fire. On his quest to bring balance to the world, the protagonist is hunted down by Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation. A skilled artist captured the popular character with her stunning cosplay, and will be sure to wow fans of the animation with epic fire-bending. Prince Zuko brought to life with female twist Perhaps the most complex character in the animation, Zuko wrestles with his own inner demons throughout the story. He is the son of Lord Ozai, who is the ruler of the Fire Nation and the main villain of the series. Cosplayer ‘gaby_cosplay‘ collaborated with photographer ‘blackborn_photographie‘ to bring the Avatar character to life with amazing special effects. You can almost feel the heat coming off the picture as she shoots flames out of her hands. While for most of the series the prince is effectively banished from his own country, the talented artist managed to recreate his royal attire to perfection. The red, black, and gold robes drape around her as she strikes the fiery pose. https://www.instagram.com/p/B8NIBB1leWV/ Gaby posted more shots of the costume on her social media account, giving us a better look at the detail that went into becoming Zuko. Cleverly, she used red tulle-like fabric in her hands to simulate fire-bending. Teaming up with photographer ‘stephanerock,’ she struck another pose, giving the Fire Nation attire a twist with the leg slit at the bottom and her appropriately flame-colored footwear. She also recreated the character’s iconic burn scar under his left eye. https://www.instagram.com/p/B3nZVa5DJJb/ The cosplay artist shared another stunning picture where she is in Zuko’s signature bending stance as fire pours from out of her hands. Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplayer flips into battle as Ty Lee Nickelodeon / Instagram: @hendoartTalented cosplayer ‘Hendo’ transformed into Avatar: The Last Airbender’s chi-blocking Fire Nation acrobat Ty Lee in an amazing take that looks as though she’s flipped right out of the screen. In Avatar, viewers first meet Ty Lee in the Fire Nation circus as princess Azula convinces her to join her entourage in order to hunt down prince Zuko and his uncle, Iroh. In May, the Nickelodeon animation was added to Netflix, and cosplayer ‘Hendo‘ decided to share her take on the gymnast to celebrate. It’s so good, it’s almost as though the live-action version of the show has arrived early. Amazing Avatar Ty Lee cosplay In the show, the character sports a long pigtail that starts at the crown of her head and runs all the way down her back. Hendo replicates this perfectly in her cosplay, even getting the acrobat’s bangs down to a tee. The Fire Nation gymnast is usually seen wearing an all-pink outfit that consists of a collared shirt that shows off her midriff, and a pair of knee-high balloon pants. The cosplayer mimics this with ease in her take, and she even included her pink wristbands as well. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_3XvvsAelH/ In another shot, Hendo details her outfit in full, showing just how much she looks like a real life version of Ty Lee. Attack on Titan cosplayers save humanity as stunning Mikasa and Eren Wit StudioA duo of Attack on Titan cosplayers perfectly captured the friendship of series heroes Eren Yeager and Mikasa Ackerman with some well-crafted outfits seemingly ripped right from the anime. Eren was portrayed by cosplayer ‘Yasucchan,’ while ‘ele_ne.cos’ dressed as Mikasa. The Mikasa cosplay, in particular, nailed the character’s hair, which sharply pierces down the middle of her face. Hair can be a challenge to get right with cosplay, so matching the character’s look was impressive. https://www.instagram.com/p/CALgHyoDh28/ Next, Ackerman’s signature scarf and the rest of her attire was nicely recreated to give no doubts who ele_ne.cos was dressed as. Meanwhile, Yasucchan’s take on Eren Yeager matches the protagonist’s attire with brown trousers, lean look and even managed to make his collar’s strings stand out. https://www.instagram.com/p/CAaz7m8DNYF/ Yasucchan’s Instagram profile indicates that she had been cosplaying since 2016, so she’s had a few years to perfect her craft and nail the intricacies of what goes into a successful cosplay. In the anime, Eren and Mikasa are childhood friends who join the Survey Corps to fight against Titans. Later in the story, Eren gains the ability to transform into the Attack Titan and uses his newfound power in combat. Aside from Eren, Yasucchan has also cosplayed as My Hero Academia’s Shoto Todoroki and a villain version of Deku. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_-ocHnDv3O/ On the other hand, ele_ne.cos has dressed as One Piece’s Luffy, Touka Kirishima from Tokyo Ghoul and more. With the fourth and final season of the Attack on Titan TV series coming in fall 2020, there’s no telling what the cosplayers will come up with to celebrate the occasion – but if it’s anything like what they pulled off with Eren and Mikasa, fans should be in for quite a treat.

  • Attack on Titan cosplayer swings into action as Mikasa Ackerman – Dexerto

Attack on Titan cosplayer swings into action as Mikasa Ackerman Instagram: nayumiyai / FunimationAttack on Titan is one of the most popular anime series in the world, and one fan of the show has brought the Survey Corps Mikasa Ackerman to life with a stunning cosplay. Ever since it’s debut back in 2013, fans across the globe have been enchanted with the story of Eren Yeager and Mikasa, who become refugees after giant humanoid creatures known as Titans breached the walls that protected humanity and destroyed their home, killing Eren’s mother in the process. Determined to gain revenge on the creatures who killed his family, Eren vowed to join the Scout Regiment and head beyond the walls to kill every Titan and free humanity from fear. After making a vow as a child to protect him after he saved her life, Mikasa followed and quickly established herself as a truly skilled combatant. Talented with a blade in her hand, and skilled at swinging through cities or forests with her ODM gear, Mikasa is perhaps the most dangerous member of the Scout regiment, taking down Titans with ease. Despite being sometimes viewed as cold by her peers, Mikasa immediately became a fan-favorite with viewers and is often the most cosplayed character from the show. Cosplayer ‘Nayumiyai‘ brought the character to life in stunning detail, capturing the Scout’s black hair, and making sure to wear the iconic red scarf that Mikasa is rarely seen without. Of course, no Attack on Titan cosplay is complete without the legendary brown leather jacket, complete with the Scouts’ recognizable logo, the ‘Wings of Freedom.’ Nayumi is even wearing the Scout’s ODM gear, which fires gas-powered hooks that clap into walls, trees, or other objects to allow them to soar into the air and get behind Titans so they can slash the nape of their necks and bring them crashing down to earth. The cosplay is truly stunning and looks like it was lifted straight out of the anime. If a live-action Attack on Titan was ever commissioned, it would be no surprise if it looked exactly like this. Attack on Titan’s third season ended in a blockbuster revelation about the origin of the Titans and the war that the Scouts have waged for hundreds of years, leaving fans desperately waiting for the final season of the show. The good news is that the fourth season of the anime will arrive on time in fall 2020, with the teaser trailer released in late May.

Attack on Titan cosplayer shows off awesome Mikasa Ackerman Instagram: Efezia / Crunchyroll[jwplayer MDxzN19r]A talented Attack on Titan cosplayer has shown off her take on one of the series’ most popular characters, with a unique take on the Scout Regiment’s Mikasa Ackerman. Ever since it’s explosive debut back in 2013, Attack on Titan has captured the imaginations of audiences across the globe as they watch the story of Eren Yeager and Mikasa Ackerman unfold. Childhood friends, Mikasa and Eren were helpless when the giant humanoid creatures known as Titans attacked their town, destroying their home and killing Eren’s mother in the final moments of the enthralling pilot episode. Determined to gain revenge on the creatures who tore his family apart, Eren joins the Scout Regiment of the armed forces, aiming to slay every Titan he sees as he hopes to gain vengeance on the monsters, and finally end their reign of terror. With a sworn promise to protect Eren, Mikasa follows suit, and the pair embark on a journey more dangerous and mysterious than either could have ever imagined. While it was Eren who wanted to join the Scouts, it’s Mikasa who has proven herself to be one of the regiment’s most gifted soldiers, using her ODM gear to swing behind the Titans and slash their necks with ease. While she may come across cold especially to her peers, there’s no doubt that she has a deep love for Eren, and will often put herself in harm’s way to save her comrades, no matter the obstacles in front of her. Her incredible skill and determination make her one of the most popular characters in the show, and for cosplayers, is almost always the go-to choice when showing their appreciation for the show. Cosplayer ‘Efezia‘ is the latest to show her take on Ackerman, posting an incredible version of the Scout on her Instagram account in late July. While the character’s legendary Scout jacket isn’t featured in this cosplay, it’s still instantly clear to see who Efezia is. Her iconic black hair is a perfect recreation to the sharp bangs that Mikasa often wears, while her instantly-recognizable red scarf is wrapped firmly around her neck. Efezia even carries two swords, one in either hand, gazing across the fields as if she’s watching for her next Titan victim to appear. Attack on Titan’s third season ended with a mind-bending revelation about the origin of the Titans and the war that the Scouts have waged for hundreds of years, leaving fans desperately waiting for the final season of the show. The good news is that the fourth season of the anime will arrive on time in fall 2020, with the teaser trailer released in late May.

Anongnoon’s acute attention to detail has resulted in a look that appears just like a 3D version of her anime counterpart, keeping in with the animated simplicity but of course with a realistic edge. https://www.instagram.com/p/CEvUmtZB2sM/ Her tan Survey Corps jacket has that utility feel, with the patches printed onto the arm and pocket identifying her as a member of the team. Her white shirt is overlaid with a thin brown belt that is wrapped around her chest, indicative of the harness that is common for many of the characters to wear in the show, again giving Anongnoon’s recreation a military-like aesthetic. The outfit is complete with a red scarf that Mikasa is commonly seen wearing, and against the almost-black brown hair that frames her face in a voluminous bob, she looks exactly the part. With almost 10,000 likes on Instagram the Mikasa recreation was clearly a hit, and has got fans excited for the December release of Season 4.

Attack on Titan cosplayer perfectly captures Mikasa Ackerman’s soft side katyushacos, Instagram / KodanshaWith Attack on Titan fans left waiting for the popular anime’s final season, they have to bide their time until the grand finale — but luckily, cosplayers are providing some quality content in the interim. Attack on Titan’s third season ended with a mind-blowing development in summer 2019, with news coming out shortly thereafter that confirmed the anime’s fourth season would, indeed, be its last. In celebration of the long-running series, Germany-based cosplayer ‘katyushacos’ unveiled her take on tritagonist Mikasa Ackerman, Eren’s adoptive sister and one of the Survey Corps finest soldiers. The character is known for her brusque attitude and battle-hardened demeanor — to all but close friends Armin and Eren, with whom she grew up in Shiganshina before the fall. It is this side of Mikasa that katyushacos perfectly captured, bringing to light her more thoughtful and gentle characteristics, as seen in an artful photo of the cosplayer posing in a grassy field, looking into the distance as though wistfully thinking of Eren. Complete with Mikasa’s red scarf, Scouting Regiment uniform, and green cloak with the Wings of Freedom emblazoned on the back, the cosplayer’s ensemble truly looks as though it were ripped directly from the anime and dropped into the real world. https://www.instagram.com/p/B-1n4NeoRpl/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link This isn’t her only photo of the costume, either; katyushacos also provided fans with some headshots of the character, where she gave Mikasa a similarly wistful look as she toyed with her scarf — or is she merely biding her time before slicing into the photographer? https://www.instagram.com/p/B9-Vj-yofKN/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link According to the cosplayer, this isn’t her first time dressing up as Mikasa, admitting in an Instagram post that she’d also cosplayed the character during the show’s initial hype in 2013. Now, she’s back and better than ever, fully integrated into the world of the Titans and willing to do anything to protect Eren and Armin. https://www.instagram.com/p/B9ou2xSon8q/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link With Attack on Titan’s fourth season set for Fall 2020, fans have little else to do other than wait for the series’ thrilling conclusion — but thankfully, katyushacos is here with some much-needed cosplay to save the day (and save fans from bloodthirsty Titans).

  • Attack on Titan cosplayer looks ready to scout as Sasha Braus – Dexerto

Attack on Titan cosplayer looks ready to scout as Sasha Braus Instagram: mangoes.cos / Crunchyroll[jwplayer MDxzN19r]An Attack on Titan cosplayer has created a perfect version of the always-ravenous Sasha Braus, the Scout regiment member whose thoughts never stray far from her next meal. Attack on Titan made its debut back in 2013, immediately becoming a cultural phenomenon thanks to its brutal action and relentlessly dark story, as Eren Yaeger joins the Scout regiment in hopes of the giant humanoid creatures known as Titans who killed his mother and forced humanity to retreat behind the safety of gigantic walls. After joining the Scouts, Eren meets a number of interesting characters as he trains to take down the vicious creatures, and while she doesn’t always play a major role in the story, few Scouts have gained as much popularity as Sasha, who has such an incredible appetite that she earned the nickname ‘Potato Girl’ after her constant attempts to steal from the infantry stores. While it’s easy to write off Sasha as just a hungry soldier, there’s much more to her than that, which is what makes her so popular with fans. Not only does she add some much-needed comic relief with her antics, but she’s also proved that she’s a valuable member of the Survey Core, with her sharp intuition, her bravery, and her wise judgement of danger proving to be vital in the regiment’s battle against the Titans. Cosplayer ‘mangoe.cos‘ showed off her perfect recreation of the character, capturing the character’s love for food perfectly with a giant bread roll, which she holds in her right hand. Of course, the outfit itself is perfect, wearing the regiment’s classic brown jacket complete with the Scout’s logo, commonly known as the ‘Wings of Freedom.’ Mangoe even recreated the harnesses that every Scout wears across their torso and legs, usually used to hold their ODM gear so they can swing towards Titans and slice the nape of their necks. • Attack on Titan cosplayer leads the Survey Corps as fierce Mikasa Ackerman – Dexerto

Attack on Titan cosplayer leads the Survey Corps as fierce Mikasa Ackerman Adult Swim / Instagram: @uzileksAttack on Titan fans have been going crazy over their favorite characters as Season 4 moves forward, but a talented cosplayer took it to another level with a lifelike recreation of Mikasa Ackerman. Attack on Titan Season 4 has been an exhilarating roller-coaster ride so far, and with only three episodes left, it’s getting even more intense. But while it’s sad to the series, so many people love coming to an end, it’s a reminder that the story and its characters have made a massive impact on fans. Mikasa Ackerman is one of those characters. A strong moral compass and an awakened power that lets her know what needs to be done are her two most defining characteristics. However, her incredible strength and combative abilities are up there, too. It’s no surprise that Mikasa Ackerman has these qualities since she’s one of two deuteragonists in the series. For that reason, she’s become a popular choice among cosplayers, even those who aren’t necessarily fans of the show. However, a streamer and cosplayer named uzileks is a massive fan. In fact, her fandom has seen her cosplay Mikasa Ackerman multiple times. But this time, she transformed into her in the middle of a wintery landscape, and it looks unreal. “If I can’t, then I’ll just die. But if I win, I live. Unless I fight, I cannot win,” she wrote, referring to an iconic quote. View this post on Instagram The outfit itself is pretty straightforward, but she’s still done an incredible job. It includes every minor detail of Mikasa’s standard Survey Corps uniform, including the shirt, jacket, straps, and scarf. The post also includes a video that shows it from a better angle and reveals an additional cloak. It’s crazy to think she wore it in what looks like ice-cold weather, but it has paid off in dividends. Uzileks’ cosplay has created quite a storm on social media. It’s already racked up more than 20,000 likes on Instagram and hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down. The Attack on Titan hype is real, and cosplayers like Uzileks keep the flame alive.

  • Attack on Titan cosplayer is ready to fight with incredible Hanji look – Dexerto

Attack on Titan cosplayer is ready to fight with incredible Hanji look Instagram: glocckforall / Wit StudioA talented cosplayer has pulled the hugely popular anime Attack on Titan from screen to real life, by skillfully imitating the character of Hanji through their detailed costume and makeup skills. Attack on Titan is a dark fantasy action anime set in a world where humanity confines themselves within huge walls to protect them from the Titans: huge, people-eating, human-like figures that stalk the world looking for prey. Little is known about Hanji’s backstory compared to other characters of their series, which is ironic given their role as a researcher of the group. Their eccentric personality is contrasted with the mystery of their past, and this cosplayer captures that mystery perfectly. Glocckforall’s outfit matches Hanji’s down to the finest details, the khaki utility-style jacket overlaid with a draping green hooded cloak setting the foundation for the character. The emblem patches sewn onto the jacket are placed exactly, with the detail even going down to the belt tied around their chest. Their dark brown wavy ponytail and further pieces of hair framing the face mimic the classic style of hair in anime, but also has a realistic edge that softens the look and makes its transition to real life smooth. https://www.instagram.com/p/CFX-pBFjkjx/ The makeup is the most impressive part of the whole cosplay, most noticeable is of course the white eye contact lens and red scarring to match Hanji’s bad eye injury, with the glasses and eye patch exactly emulating the original shape. https://www.instagram.com/p/CENIQTUjUOl/ It seems as though fans of the show are loving it too, the post at over 5000 likes at the time of writing, one commenter even calling the recreation “the most beautiful Hanji cosplay I’ve ever seen.” There’s no doubt that Glocckforall hit the nail on the head here with this Hanji cosplay, a perfect recreation of a widely loved character.

  • Attack on Titan cosplayer hilariously captures Hanji Zoe’s love for titans – Dexerto

Attack on Titan cosplayer hilariously captures Hanji Zoe’s love for titans Instagram: fegalvao_ / Hajime Isayama, Kodansha / ATTACK ON TITAN Production CommitteeOne creative Attack on Titan cosplayer is bringing Hanji Zoe’s love for titans to the forefront in a truly humorous way, just in time for the Valentine’s Day season. Hanji Zoe is Attack on Titan’s resident Titan-lover. The character specializes in Titan studies and even pioneered capturing the people-eating giants to learn more about them. Her overwhelming affection for the Titans is often a comedic point in the otherwise grim and serious anime series, which is currently on its fourth and final season. It’s certainly one of Hanji’s defining character traits… but one TikTok cosplayer is using this particular facet of her personality to some hilarious ends. TikToker and cosplayer Fe Galvao has dressed up as characters from a slew of different anime series, but it seems that her most frequented Attack on Titan character is Hanji. While she’s often posed as Hanji wearing the traditional Scouting Legion gear from seasons 1-3, she’s recently changed it up by putting the Titan expert in the slick, black anti-personnel gear seen in the first half of season 4. [WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD] Considering the show is coming to a close after nearly a decade of high-flying, Titan-slaying action, it’s definitely an appropriate look… but her most recent Hanji cosplay is taking things to the next level. In a hilarious turn of events, Galvao uploaded a video of herself dressed as Hanji wearing anti-personnel gear and getting cozy with her TV — or rather, an image of *SPOILER ALERT* Connie’s mom’s Titan. Click here if TikTok fails to load. Set to Yung Lean’s Ginseng Strip 2002 — a slow Jamz song if we’ve ever heard one — it seems that Hanji’s love for the Titans could be an affection of a different sort. Although Valentine’s Day has come and gone, this hilarious TikTok is certainly perfect for the season as Attack on Titan winds down, taking the 2022 Crunchyroll Anime Award for Best Anime along with it.

  • Attack on Titan cosplayer has fans going wild as sharpshooter Sasha Blouse – Dexerto

Attack on Titan cosplayer has fans going wild as sharpshooter Sasha Blouse Adult Swim / Instagram: @mangoecosAn Attack on Titan cosplayer named Mangoe, who also happens to be a Twitch Affiliate, has fans going wild over an incredible Sasha Blouse cosplay she posted on Instagram. Attack on Titan Season 4 draws closer to its end, which is a bittersweet moment for fans who have followed the series since it debuted back in 2013. But the story and its characters will live on in the hearts and minds of fans long after it ends. Sasha Blouse is one of the characters that will be sorely missed. She wasn’t introduced as a main character, but she played a major supporting role in the story and became a favorite among fans and cosplayers. Sasha is a slender woman with an average height. She has light gold eyes and brown hair tied into a ponytail that reaches down to her neck, with bangs hanging on each side of her face. But she looks badass in her Survey Corps uniform and is one of the best sharpshooters in the series. Sasha is appealing to cosplayers for several reasons. However, perhaps the most significant one has to do with her love for potatoes, which is an easily accessible prop that adds a hilarious spin. A popular cosplayer named Mangoe, who also happens to be a Twitch Affiliate, decided to give it a crack, and she nailed it. “The moment before Sasha reaches for you, takes your hand, and you both frolic through the potato fields,” she wrote. View this post on Instagram The outfit itself is simple enough. It consists of a typical Survey Corps uniform with a grey shirt underneath. However, Mangoe captured the expression, pose, and overall vibe to perfection, and the hair is spot on, too. The fact she’s standing in what looks like a dry field next to some large rocks is a nice touch as well. It adds a sense of atmosphere and charm to the shot, and a bit of natural scenery is always nice. She also posted a second shot, which shows her sitting cross-legged on a rock holding a potato. It provides a better look at the cosplay from the front and shows off the shirt underneath the open jacket. “Let’s share a potato for old time’s sake,” she wrote, as another hilarious reference to Sasha’s obsession with potatoes. View this post on Instagram Mango has generated a whopping 20,000 likes between the two photos, which is insane. It’s still early days, too, so the numbers will keep on growing. Fans have described her outfit as everything from “exciting” to “stunning.” One even claimed it was the best one yet. Hopefully, it’s not the last time we see Mangoe dip into the Attack on Titan world.

  • Attack on Titan cosplayer hacks and slashes into battle as Eren Yeager – Dexerto

Attack on Titan cosplayer hacks and slashes into battle as Eren Yeager Funimation / Noah LanceAttack on Titan’s Eren Yeager is a popular choice among cosplayers, but a recent effort re-created the character perfectly, and the pictures have gone viral. Attack on Titan is one of the darkest and strangest mainstream animes in recent times. However, that hasn’t stopped it from becoming an incredibly popular smash-hit. If anything, it’s probably the reason why. Nobody ever thought they’d be into a story about human soldiers locked into a battle with over-sized human-looking monsters called Titans who eat people. Yet, here we all are, and we’re hooked. Attack on Titan has many interesting characters, but it revolves around Eren Yeager, the main protagonist. He started as an impulsive and hardheaded peasant with a burning despite to help eliminate Titans. But he quickly grew into a capable member of the Scout Regiment and even stumbled upon a special power of his own. For that reason, he’s become a fan-favorite among fans and cosplayers alike. A cosplayer named Noah Lance decided to step into Eren Yeager’s boots. They’re massive ones to fill, but he did such a great job, the photos have gone viral. The pictures have already generated almost 10,000 likes on Instagram. “I hate people when they’re not polite,” he said, in reference to one of Eren Yeager’s quotes from the show. “If you end up on my table, then it serves you right.” View this post on Instagram Noah’s outfit looks like the real deal. It has everything from the khaki-colored shirt, brown belt, brown straps to a replica necklace. The dual swords are the best feature, though, and they round it off nicely. There’s also a second shot that provides a more zoomed-out view of the boots, straps, and pants. Noah’s definitely put in a lot of attention to detail, and it shows. “And I’m hoping that you will see yourself like I see you,” he said. View this post on Instagram Attack on Titan can be dark and grueling at times, but it still provides endless opportunities for fans and cosplayers to shine. Noah’s Eren Yeager cosplay is a testament to that. The fourth and final series kicks off on December 7. It marks the beginning of the end for the show, but there’s no doubt Attack on Titan fans will be in for a roller-coaster ride along the way.

  • Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Cosplayer rages into battle as Eivor – Dexerto

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Cosplayer rages into battle as Eivor Ubisoft/taryn_cosplay[jwplayer MDxzN19r]The latest game in the Assassin’s Creed series, called Valhalla, was only recently released – but that hasn’t stopped cosplayers from already bringing the game’s characters into the real world. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will take players back to the Viking Age as Eivor, a warrior who doesn’t exactly fit the traditional, stealthy Assassin mold we’ve come to know. Vikings weren’t particularly known for the smoke and mirrors tactics that have become a favorite of players in the AC series, so Eivor will be unlike any protagonist that’s been featured before – and it’s looking like cosplays of the character are shaping up to be the same way. One of the best takes on the male version of Eivor we’ve seen comes from ‘Taryn_Cosplay’ on Instagram, who has basically become our dimension’s version of the latest Assassin. Taryn’s hair and beard are a dead ringer for the character, and the tunic is also an exact match down to the fold on the red cloth at his side. https://www.instagram.com/p/CBjDSdbj1AE/?igshid=fxcqvedk6dwx An Assassin’s most important tools are the weapons they carry, and this cosplay takes that to heart with perfect recreations of Eivor’s two massive Viking axes. The wristguards are looking ready to carry the signature Hidden Blade, which as we know from Valhalla’s devs, Eivor wears on the top of their wrist – another element that makes them different than any other protagonist in the series, so far. Taryn even threw in the adorable raven sidekick, who we’re sure to see more of once we finally get to play the game once it comes out sometime in the 2020 holiday season. https://www.instagram.com/p/CAX9xm9jus9/ There are still a lot of details to be revealed about the next AC game, but we do know the map will have a feature similar to Red Dead Redemption 2’s home bases in the single-player campaign. More information is sure to be released as we get closer to the end of the year, so stick with Dexerto for all the latest Valhalla info and news as it’s released. Until the game comes out, we’d expect to see more fantastic Viking Assassin cosplay from Taryn as the date draws near, based on his history of awesome Witcher and other video game-focused cosplay on Instagram.

The Old West-inspired character serves as both a gunslinger and a gang leader, traits that ensure she stands out from the rest of Overwatch’s lineup. As one of the game’s more beloved characters, she counts among the most cosplayed of the bunch. One pair of fans even managed to incorporate Ashe’s sidekick, B.O.B., into their couple’s cosplay. But while Ashe’s classic costume typically garners much of the attention, one cosplayer decided to let her red jacket look take center stage for a time. Ashe’s Deadlock Challenge skin spotlighted in Overwatch cosplay Cosplayer Sweet Calamity has shared a photo of her stunning Ashe cosplay on Reddit. Sweet Calamity, who’s previously cosplayed the likes of Zatanna and Yennefer of Vengerberg, didn’t don the Overwatch hero’s classic Western look, however. Arknights cosplayer jumps into battle as flawless Exusiai Yostar / Instagram: meesiampExusiai is everyone’s favourite apple pie enthusiast in Arknights, as well as Penguin Logistics’ finest operators. She might be one of the most popular characters to cosplay in the popular mobile game, but ‘meesiamp’ has pulled off the perfect one. The whole Penguin Logistics organization in Arknights is one of the most popular in the game. The delivery company who puts it all on the line to make sure packages make it across Lungmen is home to some of the game’s fan-favorite operators. There’s arguably none more popular than the red-haired Exusiai though. The Laterano angel hopped on Penguin Logistics’ mission to help Rhodes Island take down Reunion — with that same at-all-costs M.O. Cosplayer ‘meesiamp’ took on Exusiai though, and she’s definitely pulled off the look. She pulled out the angelic cosplay in a recent photoshoot, and it looks incredible. First things first, she’s nailed the basic design perfectly. From Exusiai’s hoodie, down to one of her eight wanted guns as a prop, it looks like the messenger in-game. However, the most amazing part of this cosplay is the wings. Meesiamp made Exusiai’s wings and managed to get them to float by connecting each bit with wire. It really makes a difference too. Texas, Mostima, Croissant — all are fan-favorites of Arknights players, and if they’re anything like her Exusiai cosplay, they’ll be amazing. If you were looking for something a bit different though, meesiamp also cosplays a bunch of League of Legends champions, and even takes on anime hits like Demon Slayer. From the gold makeup to the brilliant accessories, she feels like a real-world Medarda. Arcane cosplayer brings Mel Medarda to life So……I did another thing because I started watching Arcane and got obsessed lol. @LeagueOfLegends congrats on a season 2 being greenlit ♥️ #Arcane pic.twitter.com/OMeafOnMlf — CutiePieSensei (@cutiepiesensei) November 22, 2021 As you can see from CutiePieSensei’s tweet, her cosplay is a relatively simple one. She doesn’t have Mel’s trademark gold armor and full outfit, but she doesn’t need those adornments. Instead, her cosplay shines (pun… intended) with just her face. The jewelry and hair accessories are practically perfect, and the gold-flecked makeup takes things to another level. Wearing Mel’s composed facial expression, CutiePieSensei adds on the gold freckles and, most importantly, her iconic purple eyeshadow. Anyone else obsessed with the eye-bag highlights in Arcane? pic.twitter.com/5Z1mTTT0nG — Tyson Murphy (@Tysmurph) November 22, 2021 Social media is already “obsessed” with Arcane’s “eye-bag highlights.” The animation’s treatment of faces is highly regarded, particularly in respect to the sharp accentuations bringing attention to characters’ eyes. In CutiePieSensei’s cosplay, she makes that same emphasis — albeit with makeup instead of graphic design. Twitter reactions have been fairly unanimous, with many calling the look “perfect” and one even calling her “Mel incarnate.” With everyone delighted that Arcane was renewed for a second season, CutiePieSensei’s congratulatory cosplay seems to be holding fans over in the meantime.

  • Apex Legends Wraith cosplay is so good it could be the real thing – Dexerto

Apex Legends Wraith cosplay is so good it could be the real thing allielice_, Instagram / EAApex Legends has inspired many of its players to produce some seriously impressive cosplays already in its short lifespan, with fans recreating looks for several legends, and this Wraith cosplayer looks ready to jump right through a portal. The battle royale game’s online community has proved itself time and time again to be one of the most creative around, whether it be interesting concepts being put forward to creatively tweak the game, incredible replica outfits of their favorite legends, or unbelievable fan art. Respawn Entertainment have only fuelled that creativity, too, by adding new content to their title such as fresh characters, weapons and at the start of Season 3, a new World’s Edge map as well. However, it’s one of the original cult heroes that has inspired a fan to go the extra mile with their cosplay, choosing Wraith to base their design on. Twitch streamer and cosplayer allielice_ shared one of her latest outfits to Instagram on January 22. The cluster of posts gave fans of the game and her account’s followers – of which she has over 10,000 – an idea of just how to recreate one of the characters from Apex Legends. While some of the colors aren’t exactly the same between her version of Wraith and the character we see in-game, the attention to detail on the belt, leg clips, dark jacket and gloves makes this one of the best attempts to recreate the fierce fighter. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7mLimdjtg5/ It could, however, be a great idea for a new skin. After all, many other legends have been given slight tweaks to their outfits from time to time. In another post, uploaded on the same day, allielice_ gave us a closer look at her dazzling costume. Let’s face it, this pretty much has it all in terms of features you would expect to see Wraith wearing. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7mLng3j-xa/ This, of course, isn’t the first Wraith cosplay that has emerged from the game’s online community. Other fans decided to incorporate contact lenses in order to eliminate the pupils of their eyes in order to make their faces seem as accurate as possible, as seen in another chilling cosplay posted back in December 2019. Based on how impressive it is to look at, as well as some other designs that have been quite similar to it, Apex cosplays are only getting better and better.

  • Apex Legends’ Wraith cosplay is from another dimension – Dexerto

Apex Legends’ Wraith cosplay is from another dimension msmallbird (Instagram)/EARespawn boasts a string of relatable characters in Apex Legends which fans often spark to life through their cosplay recreations – this Wraith outfit is no exception and will leave fans wanting more. Apex Legends diverse roster of characters provides fans with a cast of personalities in which they can elect their favorite. Since the game’s release in February 2019, Wraith has become the most popular Legends in the game. Her agile movement combined with a set of abilities support evasion from the tightest of situations. So it’s no wonder why the Interdimensional Skirmisher has become a fan-favorite. Wraith cosplay takes us ‘Into the Void’ Cosplayer, ‘msmallbird,’ has invested her talents into the Apex Games’ most popular character with her latest effort on her Instagram. And despite boasting an already expansive portfolio, her Wraith rendition looks to be one of her best yet. The savvy use of the in-game quip gives the mysterious cosplay a little context, after the cosplayer captioned the post: “I don’t fear anything, can you say the same?” https://www.instagram.com/p/B7fVB4sjnCa/ While the Instagram post only reveals the top-half of the outfit, msmallbird teased that she would recreate a full version of Wraith at some point in the future. There’s no doubt, however, that this simple (yet effective) take on Wraith gives our current top five Wraith cosplays a run for their money. While Wraith has been a staple of the Apex Legends roster from the get-go, a new character called Forge is set to make their debut in Season 4. With new Legends continuously being added, fans will likely make every effort to pluck the Augmented Brawler straight out of the Apex Games and into real life with more cosplay renditions.

Apex Legends Wattson cosplayer steps into the eye of the storm Raikohru, Electronic ArtsCosplayer Raikohru showcased their Apex Legends cosplay in a recent photoshoot, wherein they recreate the Static Defender known as Wattson. While Wattson debuted in 2019, she doesn’t actually count among Apex Legends’ original cast of playable characters. Instead, the Static Defender hit the playing field that July, launching alongside the battle royale title’s Season 2 content rollout. She’s remained a fan-favorite Legend ever since, evidenced by the sheer number of cosplayers who have brought Wattson to life for personal projects. Evidently, the love for this particular Legend has yet to cease. Apex Legends cosplayer shows off electrifying Wattson costume Cosplayer Raikohru recently took to Instagram and Reddit to share photos of their incredible Wattson-inspired getup. In addition to showcasing the Apex Legends look at cons, the cosplayer also snapped shots with The 86th Floor. Some of Raikohru’s photos depict Wattson as fans are used to seeing her – with a hood on her head. However, several other cosplay pictures show Raikohru’s version of the Legends without headwear. In response to questions about going hoodless in most pictures, Raikohru noted, “…I just don’t like how it looks.” But Wattson players in the Reddit thread seem to have taken a liking to the idea of the character with curly hair. “I absolutely love the hair with this,” user EnderScout_77 said. BranislavBGD expressed a similar opinion in the following comment, “I absolutely ADORE the hair here! Finally, it has been set free!” Wattson mains and other Apex faithful have plenty to look forward to in the days ahead.
