  • Why Dallas Empire vs Chicago Huntsmen is Call of Duty’s new eClásico – Dexerto

Why Dallas Empire vs Chicago Huntsmen is Call of Duty’s new eClásico When Dallas Empire face Chicago Huntsmen at the launch of the Call of Duty League on January 24, it will be a historic moment for the game. After more than a decade of open circuit competition, Call of Duty is moving to a franchised league with new, city-based teams. Dallas Empire and Chicago Huntsmen have not yet played an official game, but when they meet in the opening match of the CDL, they’ll already be carrying the weight of the game’s most iconic rivalry. As a result, the match should not be considered as the debut of two new teams, but as the latest iteration of eClásico. What is eClásico? Long-term Call of Duty fans will probably have heard the term ‘eClásico’ in various broadcasts, but for those unfamiliar with the origin, it derives from soccer’s ‘El Clásico’, the name given to the legendary rivalry between Spain’s two biggest teams: Barcelona and Real Madrid. Literally translating as ‘The Classic’, El Clásico is one of the most iconic matchups in the entire sporting world. Not only are Real and Barca two of the most successful sides in the world, but they represent the two largest cities in Spain and carry the weight of all the history and politics that come with them. So eClásico isn’t a name than can be invoked lightly, and while there have been plenty of rivalries in Call of Duty over the years, only one has deserved to bear that title so far – that between OpTic Gaming and Team Envy. With Dallas Empire being owned by Envy and some of OpTic’s most legendary members joining Chicago Huntsmen, including former owner H3CZ, the story will continue at that opening game in Minnesota. This is a rivalry that has been brewing for 10 years, and a decade of history won’t be wiped out just because the main players are representing cities – if anything, it could become even more intense. A Battle of Blue and Green begins The origins of this rivalry can be traced back to OpTic’s very first step into esports. Envy were their very first opponents in OpTic’s offline debut at the MLG National Championship for Modern Warfare 2 in 2010. OpTic produced something of an upset over the boys in blue, but no one could have predicted that these two teams would be the only ones to endure throughout the open circuit era, pushing each other to greater heights and shaping the history of the esport. OpTic and EnVy’s rosters changed significantly throughout the next 10 years, but the game’s most legendary players have turned out for either side, with some even transferring between the two. These transfers and the matches that followed would only add to the intensity of the rivalry. When OpTic Gaming controversially dropped Raymond ‘Rambo’ Lussier in 2012 after a dominant MW3 season in order to make room for Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, it was Team Envy that offered him a new home. Rambo’s Envy line-ups would go on to reach the grand final of the Call of Duty Championships two years running, on one occasion eliminating OpTic Gaming in the lower bracket final. Later, when OpTic superstar Seth ‘Scump’ Abner briefly left the team in 2014, he looked to Envy for a new home, although he was back in green before ever making an official debut for Envy. Looking back at that pre-advanced movement era, names like Joe ‘Merk’ Deluca, Jordan ‘ProoF’ Cannon, and Jordan ‘JKap’ Kaplan could just as easily be remembered as legends of either organization. Even today, we have ex-OpTic players turning out for Dallas Empire and Chicago Huntsmen, but perhaps the greatest turning point for the two teams came ahead of the Advanced Warfare season. The rivalry advances The fate of OpTic and Envy has always been closely intertwined, but that was never more true than at the end of the Ghosts season in 2014. Fans will remember Advanced Warfare as the year that kicked off the OpTic dynasty. What some might forget is that most of that squad was originally destined for Envy. By the end of the Ghosts season, Evil Geniuses had finally been dethroned as the top Call of Duty team, and star player Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter was looking for a new squad. His decision would affect the entire competitive landscape for the coming year. His first choice of teammate was Matthew ‘FormaL’ Piper. FormaL had barely a single season under his belt in Call of Duty after making the switch from Halo, but he’d already established himself as one of the greatest raw talents on the circuit. He would help Envy fill the void after Evil Geniuses vacated the world number one spot. The plan was for Crimsix to join FormaL and Merk on Envy, along with his former teammate, then two-time CoD Champs winner Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow. The trouble was that during the final event of the year, ESWC, Envy members JKap and Anthony ‘Nameless’ Wheeler discovered that they were about to be replaced after a season in which they’d taken the organization to another Call of Duty Championships final and claimed the world number one ranking. In the ensuing drama, Envy ultimately decided to be loyal to their older players. So, FormaL and Crimsix joined up with Scump and Nadeshot on OpTic Gaming, later to be joined by Karma when Nadeshot retired during the Advanced Warfare season. The rest is history. Though it’s hard to argue that OpTic didn’t come off better, Envy still had some chances to delay the team’s ascent to GOAT status. In 2016, after reaching the finals twice already, Envy finally lifted the CoD Champs trophy, and they did so with a winner’s bracket run that started with a win over OpTic Gaming. The green wall would have to wait yet another year for the title they’d been expected to win. Of course, when OpTic Gaming finally reached their very first CoD Champs grand final the following year, there could only be one team standing between them and the title – Envy. This time, OpTic would not be denied, and they finally claimed the one title that had eluded them for nearly three years. Surprisingly, both OpTic and Envy were surpassed by other squads for most of the Call of Duty: WWII season, and while OpTic bounced back somewhat in Black Ops 4, Envy continued to flounder with only one top four finish the entire season. As they were not competing for tournament wins and world championships, the eClásico storyline took a back seat for a while, but the rivalry soon became a factor again as the franchised Call of Duty League was announced and rosters began to form. What’s in a name As Call of Duty moves into a new era of franchising, the lineage of eClásico gets a little muddied. While the Envy name is no longer attached to a Call of Duty team on the surface, they are the owners of Dallas Empire, with Mike ‘Hastr0’ Rufail still pulling the strings. Fans with an open mind are getting used to the team representing Dallas, with Envy also owning the Overwatch League’s Dallas Fuel. OpTic’s position in the CDL is far more complicated, as while the OpTic Gaming brand remains in Call of Duty with LA, its soul is with the Chicago Huntsmen. Traditionally, esports teams haven’t represented cities and the success of teams like OpTic and Envy came from who they were and what they did rather than where they’re from. It didn’t matter where the OpTic House was, the green wall was made up of Call of Duty fans from around the world. Even when they weren’t winning everything they were the biggest team around, and the architect of their success was Hector ‘Hecz’ Rodriguez. For a long time, especially in Call of Duty, joining OpTic Gaming was a guaranteed ticket to fame and fortune beyond just competitive success. When OpTic signed a new player, they made sure to introduce them to the fanbase as a new member of the family, and fans flocked to them because they knew each would play a role in telling the story of the team. It was clear when Infinite took the reigns and Hecz stepped back that this philosophy had been largely abandoned. OpTic expanded more rapidly than ever before during the Infinite era of 2016/17, but rarely took the time to foster the same connection to each new player that fans were accustomed to. With Hecz now entirely gone from the organization, and the brand purchased by a company that has no connection to the heritage of either OpTic or Call of Duty, the unavoidable reality is that not only has the CDL’s ‘OpTic Gaming LA’ lost its heart, but that heart will continue to beat in a direct competitor. Hecz might not have been able to save the OpTic name, but he is back in esports as the co-CEO of NRG, and it seems much of his time and effort will be focused where old-school OpTic fans will appreciate it most – on the organization’s Call of Duty League franchise, Chicago Huntsmen. It certainly doesn’t hurt that alongside Hecz himself, the Chicago Huntsmen is also home to the most iconic player OpTic ever produced. Scump is not only by far the most popular active pro in Call of Duty, he was also the longest serving player in OpTic history. If that wasn’t enough, he’s joined by FormaL, another key member of the team’s most legendary line-up. There’s no doubt that for any OpTic fans of more than a year or so, Chicago Huntsmen will feel the most like home in the CDL, even though the OpTic name technically lives on. Empire vs Huntsmen In addition to the history they carry with them, there are plenty of reasons to be excited for the Empire vs Huntsmen matchup right now. As has often been the case in eClásico, the current rosters will feature former teammates on opposite sides of the rivalry. After the Black Ops 4 season finished in 2019, the legendary OpTic Gaming core that built the greatest dynasty Call of Duty has ever seen finally broke apart. While Scump and FormaL were reunited, Crimsix found his new home on Dallas Empire after a less than amicable split, and there’s no questioning that both sides will be determined to get one over on each other. Meanwhile, former eUnited teammates James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks and Alec ‘Arcitys’ Sanderson will also play on opposite sides of eClásico, for Empire and Huntsmen respectively. As a result of franchising, this is the first time ever that the winners of the Call of Duty Championships have separated before playing another tournament together. Both on paper and in early online showings, Dallas Empire and Chicago Huntsmen are shaping up to be two of the strongest teams in the Call of Duty League. Not only is eClásico alive and well, but it could be approaching some of the fiercest competition in the rivalry’s history. A new eClásico? Some might argue, perhaps, that the ‘eClásico’ moniker should be left to the past. If the teams it applies to no longer exist in their original state, perhaps it should be consigned to the history books – let teams in the new age develop new rivalries with new titles. So why preserve the name? Why not let it die with OpTic and Envy in Call of Duty, a relic of a bygone era? One of Call of Duty’s greatest strengths as an esport is its history, and the stories that have already been told. There is something special about the heritage of an esport which built itself from the ground up before there were developers and investors throwing millions around to make things work, and that should be remembered and celebrated. The name ‘eClásico’ encapsulates the greatest rivalry in Call of Duty. It signifies that there is more to the competition than the present moment, and for it to pass from active use would be to lose a monument to the foundations upon which the new franchising era has been built. eClásico should live on, but it should do so in honor of the people and the spirit in which it was born, and that legacy now resides in Dallas Empire and Chicago Huntsmen.

  • Why Dallas Empire aren’t getting the most out of iLLeY and Shotzzy in CDL 2021 – Dexerto

Why Dallas Empire aren’t getting the most out of iLLeY and Shotzzy in CDL 2021 Call of Duty LeagueDallas Empire is still one of the top teams in the Call of Duty League, but they’ve looked a little shaky from time to time, and it could be because they’re not getting the most out of iLLeY and Shotzzy. Dallas Empire is the second-best team in the Call of Duty League right now. But although they’ve been impressive with nine wins and four losses, there’s still plenty of room for improvement. Fans hold all the players in high regard and have lofty expectations for the team. However, they’ve fallen a little short of the mark heading into the major, and it might be because they’re not getting the most out of Anthony ‘Shotzzy’ Cuevas-Castro and Indervir ‘iLLeY’ Dhaliwal. The dynamic duo joined the team in October 2019 and performed well in Modern Warfare. However, it feels like they aren’t being utilized correctly in Black Ops Cold War. Shotzzy appears to take a backseat role more often than he used to. It isn’t necessarily a problem, but it hampers his potential and means he pops off less often than we’ve come to expect. iLLeY, by the same token, is still rock solid but seems to be a few beats behind the player he was last season. The most logical explanation is they may still be adapting to the game. After all, it’s slower and less chaotic than the previous title due to being four versus four instead of five versus five. In the end, though, the team is still doing lots of things right. It’s hard to criticize them, especially when they’re only 25 points behind Atlanta FaZe and can beat anyone on a good day. However, if they want to push the envelope, they’ll need Shotzzy and iLLeY to get back to what they were doing last year. Then, we’ll see the team’s best more often and more consistently than we are now.

  • Why Clayster flipped off CDL on-broadcast during Royal Ravens matchup – Dexerto

Why Clayster flipped off CDL on-broadcast during Royal Ravens matchup YouTube: CDLJames ‘Clayster’ Eubanks flipped the bird to the Call of Duty League moments before the New York Subliners took on the Royal Ravens. Here’s why the veteran was all too frustrated before his latest matchup. As players got settled into the lobby for the second week of CDL action in 2021, something clearly ticked off NYSL. There was visible frustration from the players before they kicked off the opening map. Coming off a difficult 0-3 loss to the Los Angeles Thieves a week prior, the lineup was looking to rebound with a bang. Before they got their boots on the ground, however, a key moment from the previous week was broadcast for the world to see. The CDL stream revealed Clayster’s heated comms after the disappointing loss. This private matter shouldn’t have been aired at all, according to Clay, let alone moments before their next match. So, he took out his frustration the only way he could: flipping the bird on-stream. “I had complained last time about showing my cam when I was super upset with my team,” he explained. “So I was pretty upset with them airing my after-match comms.” Despite the 0-3 scoreline, NYSL’s series against the LA Thieves was one of the closest all week. The Hardpoint came within nine points, SnD went to a round 11, and Control went the distance as well. Understandably, Clayster was fairly heated after the extremely close series that very well could have been a 3-0 in their favor. We’re up 5-3 in the Search and we can’t close it out?” This moment was captured on the broadcast last week but the comms were only just revealed today. Frustrated with the CDL running it without permission, Clayster stuck his middle finger up the next time his camera was on-stream. If they’re going to make us sit here, I think it’s a little unprofessional to use the comms in the video. Especially right before we play a match.” The NYSL vs Royal Ravens series begins at the 1:31:50 mark below. While the video could have brought the team down, they didn’t let it get to them. NYSL dominated the Royal Ravens to rebound with a lopsided 3-0 win in Week 2. • Why Call of Duty: Warzone should copy CSGO to fix its cheating problem – Dexerto

Why Call of Duty: Warzone should copy CSGO to fix its cheating problem Activision / ValveWarzone, Call of Duty’s immensely popular battle royale, has been battling with its excessive cheating problem pretty much since launch. As hackers run rampant, the developers are struggling to keep up – but the solution is out there. Although cheaters exist in almost every online game, and will continue to be, there is one reason why Warzone faces a bigger challenge than others: Price of entry. Being free-to-play is part of Warzone’s success – there’s no question that if it had cost a premium, the player base would be a lot smaller. Fortnite and Apex Legends being free-to-play almost forced Activision’s hand, if they wanted to compete in the saturated BR market. The downside is obvious though. Banning a cheater’s account will do little to deter them, as they can simply start a new account with another free version of the game. But, CS:GO, and other games, already have a solution for this. Warzone Prime? No, we’re not talking about Amazon Prime but rather CS:GO’s ‘Prime’ version. CS:GO, released in 2012 and went free-to-play in 2018. Immediately, the first concern was that cheaters would overwhelm the servers, as there was no longer a pay-barrier to entry. But Valve had other ideas. They simply introduced what’s called ‘Prime matchmaking.’ Players who already owned the paid version were automatically upgraded, and new players could opt to pay $14.99/£11.49 for “Prime Status.” Read More: Warzone vs Apex Legends – There are a number of benefits for Prime Status members, including “Prime-exclusive souvenir items, item drops, and weapon cases.” But, the real benefit is Prime matchmaking. This option also requires a phone number to be linked to your account, and you can’t simply start a new account without linking a phone number to it as well. This isn’t to say that the system is foolproof. Cheaters can still find their way into ‘Prime’ lobbies. But, what matters is that their numbers are significantly reduced. Warzone could quite easily implement a similar feature – and we bet plenty of players would be willing to pay. Of course, anyone who has purchased the full version of Modern Warfare or Black Ops Cold War would automatically get ‘Prime Status.’ Free-to-play players could pay a nominal, one-off fee, enabling safer matchmaking and perhaps granting some rewards, a few levels on the battle pass for example, or exclusive skins. Another way CS:GO attempts to manage the volume of hackers is through trust ratings. It must be said that this trust system is not without its criticisms either. But, generally, it works well to weed out either toxic players or potential cheaters. A trust factor could be implemented into Warzone, but it would need to be transparent. Currently, some players believe they’ve been “shadow-banned” from regular matchmaking in Warzone because they’ve been reported too many times. This uncertainty isn’t good, and instead, players should be able to see their trust rating, and be able to work towards improving it. Another aspect is that players in CS:GO cannot immediately jump into a ranked competitive match without playing some casual matches first, and a similar system is used in Overwatch. This also gives a ‘time buffer’ – meaning would-be cheaters will need to waste time in these games before they can ruin the proper experience for others. Warzone could easily implement a buffer for new accounts, stipulating that they have to play five practice matches first, for example. This certainly wouldn’t put off the most determined of cheaters, but it’s another hurdle at least. Read More: 10 most popular weapons in Warzone – It’s clear that something needs to be done about hackers in Warzone. Some of the most popular content creators, who were once dedicated to the game, like Vikkstar, have ditched it. The cheaters have also impacted the upper levels of competitive Warzone, with the very best players dropping out of tournaments as they can’t trust their opponents to be playing fair. A paid membership like Prime would likely get some backlash for Activision, as players would criticize the developers for trying make money out of the problem instead of fixing it. But, ultimately, it would still be better than the current situation, where the ease of access for cheaters to get right back on with a new account is almost certainly contributing to the problem overall.

  • Why Call of Duty League players aren’t using Sniper Rifles – Dexerto

Why Call of Duty League players aren’t using Sniper Rifles ActivisionThe world’s best Call of Duty players haven’t been using Sniper Rifles in Black Ops Cold War but there’s a good reason behind it. Here’s why. [jwplayer 6aSLeW8Y] Sniper Rifles have long been a staple of the CoD franchise. Some of the biggest moments in competitive history have come as a result of the one-shot killing machines. However, they’re completely absent at the very highest level in Black Ops Cold War. While the Call of Duty League hasn’t officially started it’s 2021 season, we already have a sense of how things will look at the first proper event. Thanks to early scrims and the Kickoff Classic, we’ve seen how matches play out with Snipers gone from the game. But why aren’t they making an impact? Why aren’t some of the most freakish aimers getting to flex their skills and produce more montage-worthy highlights this year? Let’s break down why snipers aren’t on display. Sniper Rifles unofficially banned from competitive CoD First and foremost, it’s important to understand the difference between the official competitive ruleset and the unofficial Gentlemen’s Agreements (GAs). Each and every year, a formal list of competitive settings are implemented across the competitive scene. These are outlined by CDL administration and apply to all levels of play from the League itself to the Challengers scene. Meanwhile, GAs are unofficial rulings that all professional players follow. These essentially allow for the best players to further balance the state of competition. Certain guns overpowered but not addressed in the proper ruleset? They’ll be GAd in a matter of days. Perks or various equipment making too much of an impact? GAs will have them pulled from the game in no time. These are mutual agreements among the world’s most experienced professionals. All players abide by the ever-evolving list of GAs. With Black Ops Cold War thrust into the spotlight, it soon became apparent that Sniper Rifles were causing issues. While the weapons themselves are extremely accurate this year, with minimal flinch and high damage output, snipers themselves weren’t the root cause of the issue. No smoke grenades, no snipers in the CDL It was primarily smoke grenades that led to all Sniper Rifles being GAd. Smokes have always been the main counter for snipers. Blocking key lines of sight essentially negates a powerful gun on the enemy team for a short period. This can set up the perfect window for a flank, allow your team to take a more aggressive position, or even help you sneak to the objective. Unfortunately, smoke grenades don’t quite work as intended in Black Ops Cold War. Weeks in team practice and top-level scrims, players began noticing more and more issues with smokes. There is currently a game-breaking exploit that allows players to see clearly through smoke from certain angles. In fact, some players simply don’t see smoke whatsoever. One player could think they’re completely masked by the smoke effect, while another instantly locks onto them and guns them down without a hassle. Naturally, with the equipment being a major exploit, it was soon added to the list of GAs. Shortly after, Sniper Rifles were added too. Without this piece of equipment to counter snipers, they were able to run wild on any given map. With one-shot kill potential, there needs to be some form of counter-play but it simply didn’t exist. Will Sniper Rifles come back soon? This choice wasn’t made overnight. Players experimented with various levels of restrictions before coming to this decision. From running snipers without any attachments to restricting them in specific game modes, everything was tested. It’s clear that if snipers could be in play, they would. Players are all for it with many of the biggest names calling out the ‘boring’ nature of CoD without them. “No snipes is boring,” Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow tweeted on January 24. “Totally understand why, but SND without snipes and smokes is a snooze,” Tyler ‘TeePee’ Polchow chimed in. Totally understand why, but SND without snipes and smokes is a snooze — TeeP (@TylerTeeP) January 24, 2021 For the time being, it simply isn’t meant to be. Snipers without smokes to counter them would be near impossible to play against. Until a fix for the one-way smoke exploit makes its way to Black Ops Cold War, don’t expect to see snipers back in effect. As soon as Treyarch resolves the issues, however, it’s entirely likely the fan-favorites make an immediate return.

  • Why Call of Duty ending annual releases could permanently ruin the franchise – Dexerto

Why Call of Duty ending annual releases could permanently ruin the franchise ActivisionOn February 22, 2022, reports began to emerge that Call of Duty would not release a new installment in 2023, breaking the annual cycle that has existed for almost two decades. Despite popular sentiment, this could turn out to be a disaster for the franchise. Call of Duty has been on an annual release cycle ever since Call of Duty 2 was released in 2005. Since then, it has gone on to be one of the best-selling titles of each year, if not *the* best-selling title. It’s a gaming franchise that few could ever even dream of competing with, and that’s due in large part to the annual release model, with each new iteration raking in literally billions each year in recent years. So while the sudden change of heart might seem confusing to players — as well as being celebrated by those who have been calling for this for a long time — it’s hard not to see the glaring issues this will present if a longer development cycle becomes commonplace. FWIW, Activision executives never felt the need to stop yearly Call of Duty releases cause the games would make $1 billion in a few weeks, until Vanguard. — CharlieIntel (@charlieINTEL) February 22, 2022 A large section of the player base, particularly competitive fans, have long clamored for Call of Duty to step away from the yearly cycle that sees a new game dropping each October/November. This is particularly prevalent during the lifecycles of games that players particularly love. The casual fanbase, for example, were generally fans of Modern Warfare 2019, citing it as the best CoD game in recent memory. While the competitive players disagreed vehemently, with the pros largely considering it to be a low-tier Call of Duty title, they too have often argued for CoD to let their games play out over a longer span of time. I’ve been one of those people, too. Imagine a world where the Call of Duty League, or formerly the Call of Duty World League, played Black Ops 2 or Black Ops 3 for several years, rather than having to hand the reins over to Ghosts and Infinite Warfare respectively? Call of Duty isn’t what it used to be The issue is, that world no longer exists. The CoD titles of recent years have been divisive at best, or downright hated at their worst, by sizeable pockets of the community. This dates back to Infinite Warfare (and in many instances even further than that) in 2016, and each year since then has split the player base massively. This has led us to the last couple of years. Modern Warfare was perhaps the most fractured the CoD community has been in terms of enjoyment of the game, though many still play it to this day. Black Ops Cold War failed to offer much more to the franchise, and while a sound competitive game, definitely failed to capture the attention of casual players as much as MW. Now, in 2022, Vanguard has struggled to really capture the attention of much of the player base. But imagine you had to play Vanguard or Cold War for two years? Many players dropped those games after a matter of weeks, let alone years. The games simply aren’t currently in a state where players would want to endure them for two years. They aren’t Modern Warfare 2 or Black Ops 2 anymore. Sure, some games since then have been enjoyable, and solid competitively, but enough to keep players engaged for that long? As a result, the yearly cycle has been the only glimmer of hope in some cases. The boredom or dislike of the current title gets players anticipating the next, and they’re inevitably left chasing a nostalgic feeling that just isn’t coming. By taking away that excitement, Activision could be shooting themselves in the foot and allowing players to detach from the series completely. The Money Conundrum Something many players may not have considered is the fact that losing that insane 10-figure revenue will be costly to Activision, and the company’s shareholders. That’s earnings they won’t be generating through pure game sales, so they’ll no doubt be looking to make it elsewhere. Read More: CDL 2022 season standings & schedule – It’s only in recent years that Call of Duty stopped charging players for DLC, and this would be one of the first options Activision could consider should they wish to make up the shortfall. Renowned reporter Jason Schreier even suggested as much in a recent tweet. He said that plans for 2023 are “nebulous” but “will include DLC for 2022’s Modern Warfare game among other things.” When asked whether that means paid DLC or the ongoing, seasonal content we have now, he wasn’t able to give a clear cut answer. There are clearly merits to dropping the yearly cycle. Game devs, who already have to work overtime and more to get these games finished by the deadline, will be able to put out a polished product with enough time to do so. Professional players can really establish themselves in the game and learn it on a much deeper level than in years past. Casual players who love the game won’t have to worry about losing a large percentage of the playing population come November. But with that all in mind, it’s easy to look past what could possibly signal the slow demise of the franchise we’ve all come to love, should they decide to remove the annual release completely.

  • WhosImmortal’s Warzone Whitley loadout makes buffed LMG a long-range “beast” – Dexerto

WhosImmortal’s Warzone Whitley loadout makes buffed LMG a long-range “beast” Activision/WhosImmortalThe Whitley is one of the many guns that received a buff in Warzone Season 3 Reloaded and WhosImmortal has a deadly long-range build for players to try. Warzone LMGs have often been overshadowed by ARs and SMGs, but the recently buffed Whitley demonstrates that this class can really pack a punch. This Vanguard weapon had its damage range increased, which makes it extremely deadly across Caldera and Rebirth Island. Having a weapon you can rely on to cut through multiple targets is incredibly important, especially now that the game’s HP buff is in effect. So, whether you’re tired of using the STG44 or just wish to use this lesser-known LMG, then WhosImmortal’s meta Whitley loadout is one you’ll want to try. WhosImmortal best Whitley Warzone loadout Muzzle: MX Silencer – Barrel: 28” Gracey MK. 9 – Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x – Stock: CGC R4 – Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop – Magazine: .303 British 45 Rnd Mags – Ammunition: Lengthened – Rear Grip: Polymer Grip – Perk: Hardscope – Perk 2: Fully Loaded – In order to capitalize on the Whitley’s buffed damage, WhosImmortal has opted for attachments that significantly bolster both the gun’s accuracy and range. Both the MX Silencer and 28. Gracey MK 9 reduces recoil, while also providing added bullet velocity – an area that is pivotal to any mid to long-range loadout. Round it off with even more bullet velocity from Lengthened, and you have a loadout that can hit distant targets without the need to lead shots. Meanwhile, the added magnification from the SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x ensures you’re consistently making use of the Whitley’s improved neck and headshot damage. Timestamp of 4:23 Like all meta loadouts, the Whitley doesn’t feature huge amounts of recoil – in fact, the LMG barely moves when fired full-auto. As a result, equipping the CGC R4, M1941 Hand Stop, .303 British 45 Rnd Mags, Polymer Grip, and Hardscope Perk is a must. Lastly, the Fully Loaded Perk enables you to start with the maximum amount of ammo, meaning you don’t have to go on the prowl for ammunition crates. Simply grab your loadout and begin wreaking havoc. The Whitley may not be the most popular weapon pick in Warzone, but WhosImmortal’s build demonstrates that it can be a sleeper hit in Season 3 Reloaded.

  • WhosImmortal reveals Warzone’s most “underrated” SMG meta loadout – Dexerto

WhosImmortal reveals Warzone’s most “underrated” SMG meta loadout ActivisionWhosImmortal took a look at the best SMGs in all of Warzone and he says that this underrated loadout can compete with the very best competition in Season 3 Reloaded. There has been a significant reshuffling of the meta since the start of Season 3. Whether it was the big nerf to snipers or the slow fall off of the MP40, things have taken an unexpected turn so far. For the SMG class, the Armaguerra 43 has garnered a ton of praise for its meteoric rise, but there’s another gun garnering some spotlight as well. When discussing the overall best guns, Warzone guru WhosImmortal believes the Vanguard PPSH has been performing well enough to earn a spot in the conversation. WhosImmortal’s PPSH-41 is one of Warzone’s best SMG loadouts in Season 3 The setup in question is focused primarily on ADS speed to enhance the high-octane gameplay expected from the PPSH. By using the ZAC 300mm barrel it becomes one of the swiftest options in all of Warzone and the other attachments can enhance this as well. The YouTuber admits that the gun as a whole is “a bit underrated” this season thanks to some stiff competition, but he still believes in its potential to keep up with the top of the order. Immortal’s PPSH-41 Warzone loadout Muzzle: Recoil Booster – Barrel: ZAC 300mm Barrel – Optic: Kovalevskaya ISO 3P – Stock: Removed Stock – Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop – Magazine: 2mm Gorenko 71 Round Mags – Ammo Type: Lengthened – Rear Grip: Polymer Grip – Perk1: Tight Grip – Perk2: Quick – In the close-to-medium ranges, this loadout will dispatch enemies with the best of them. It takes a fairly sharp fall off at distance, but the added accuracy of the M1941 Hand Stop will help keep its recoil in line so that you’re not completely hopeless. Pairing this build with a lethal long-range option like the HDR or ZRG will help balance it out, but it also works in combo with a good AR as well. It may not outperform the Owen Gun or the Armaguerra but it’s good enough to get the thumbs up from one of the game’s most seasoned analysts, so even the most cynical players should consider it giving it a run for themselves.

  • WhosImmortal reveals massive Perk change every Warzone player should be making – Dexerto

WhosImmortal reveals massive Perk change every Warzone player should be making ActivisionWarzone’s Perk meta received a facelift in Season 3 Reloaded and Immortal has highlighted the biggest change that every player needs to make if they want to catch up with the latest trends. For much of the last two seasons, Double Time has reigned supreme in terms of Perk One. The enhanced movement offered by extending a player’s sprint time is a valuable thing to have in any mode, but with the oversized nature of Caldera, it became the default choice for most players. However, with the arrival of the speed boost pickups and the installation of a Fast Travel system, that extra movement declined in value just as another change in gameplay has caused a new Perk One competitor to appear. New meta for Warzone perks after Season 3 Reloaded After the update, it’s become clear that Combat Scout is nearly undefeated in Perk 3, so while Double Time crept Cold-Blooded out of the meta temporarily, it’s time to come back to the old favorite. The overwhelming majority of players are taking advantage of the ‘wallhack’ effects that it offers in order to keep an eye on any slippery enemies. Immortal highlights the exact numbers and it turns out that over 40% of the player base is currently running Combat Scout in their games. As mentioned in the video above, it’s nearly a guarantee that at least one squad member is going to be running it in every single fight on Caldera. By switching early to Cold Blooded, the rest of the population can nullify this advantage and essentially cause their would-be assailants to be wasting a slot. On top of this, they’ll also be expecting their target to light up when they shoot, so when it doesn’t happen, there could be a window of opportunity to get on the move and keep yourself in the game.

  • WhosImmortal reveals forgotten MW assault rifle that’s replaced the AMAX in Warzone – Dexerto

WhosImmortal reveals forgotten MW assault rifle that’s replaced the AMAX in Warzone Treyarch/ActivisionWarzone YouTuber WhosImmortal has showcased a meta loadout for a forgotten assault rifle that has replaced the AMAX as the best Modern Warfare AR. Since November of 2021, Vanguard weapons have dominated in Warzone when compared to those from Cold War and Modern Warfare, meaning a lot of the guns from these games often go under the radar. While there’s denying the likes of the STG44, MP40, Cooper Carbine, and NZ-41 are the heavy hitters in Season 3 Reloaded, there are a few hidden gems that a lot of players are overlooking. For Warzone expert WhosImmortal, there’s one assault rifle that is being underrated by the community and in his opinion, has taken the AMAX’s spot as the best Modern Warfare AR. We’re of course talking about the RAM-7, a powerful weapon that packs a punch at medium range and according to him, has the potential to compete in the current meta. WhosImmortal’s meta RAM-7 Warzone loadout Attachments Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor – Barrel: FSS Ranger – Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic – Magazine: 50 Round Mags – Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip – While the STG44 is by far the most popular AR in the current meta, WhosImmortal has recommended players check out the powerful RAM-7 if they’re looking for a lethal Modern Warfare weapon. With a strong TTK that’s capable of dispatching enemies with ease at medium to long-range, the setup above focuses on maximizing the gun’s damage and bolstering its recoil. Following the heavy nerfs to the AMAX in Season 3 Reloaded, WhosImmortal has the labeled the RAM-7 the “best of the best” when it comes to Modern Warfare, even surpassing the Grau in his opinion. Keep in mind, that the RAM-7 is harder to control than the Grau, so you may have to spend some time getting used to the kickback before you can truly master the AR. Topic starts at 2:15 While the RAM-7 is certainly no slouch at close quarters, we suggest you run Overkill with this setup so you can use a meta SMG alongside the weapon. Both the MP40 and Owen Gun are strong choices and will ensure you can fry any opponents that attempt to push your position aggressively. Of course, this setup may not quite match the strength of the STG44, but if you’re looking for an underrated setup that can perform with the best, consider giving this a try in one of your games.

  • WhosImmortal explains why Warzone 2’s perk system is “broken” – Dexerto

WhosImmortal explains why Warzone 2’s perk system is “broken” YouTube: WhosImmortalWarzone 2’s new perk system has CoD YouTuber WhosImmortal scratching his head over bugs, exploits, and lack of communication from the developers. Modern Warfare 2 players slammed the “horrible” new perk system for time-locking abilities. In previous CoD titles, all equipped perks were immediately available in-game, but MW2 reworked the familiar formula. Players start with two base perks, a bonus perk is granted four minutes into a match, and an ultimate perk is awarded after eight minutes. Users can edit their base, bonus, and ultimate perks in multiplayer, but WZ2 controversially takes that freedom out of their control. Warzone 2 doesn’t allow players to edit perks, instead offering preset perk packages. WZ2 perk packages are intended to function the same as in multiplayer, but WhosImmortal explained why the system is broken. WhosImmortal exposes flawed Warzone 2 perk system In his latest YouTube video, WhosImmortal claimed, “perks in Warzone 2 are incredibly broken.” Activision originally planned on not including perks in the battle royale sequel, as the developer stated “perks will not be available in Warzone 2 at launch.” The developers had a change of heart and included perks on day one, yet WhosImmortal is not impressed with the final product. The YouTuber talked about rumors of some players being able to edit their perk packages. “Right now, there is zero definitive answer as to who is able to use custom perk packages and who is not able to use them. For what it’s worth for those who said that they can create their own packages. They say that they are working in-game.” Another issue is bonus and ultimate perks not activating in Warzone 2. WhosImmortal claimed the ultimate perk high alert is not working correctly for him. “I have never once gotten a high alert ping in the game to this day, even though I have had it on numerous times.” WhosImmortal also spoke about the Birdeyse ultimate perk exploit that gives unlimited UAV access across all of Al Mazrah. “This entire system needs some major fixes because it is completely random as to whether or not you can create your own custom perks and then actually have those perks work.”

  • WhosImmortal explains how Warzone can fix “broken” weapon meta after health buff – Dexerto

WhosImmortal explains how Warzone can fix “broken” weapon meta after health buff WhosImmortalThe Warzone community has been divided over the Season 3 Reloaded player health increase, which has led to a “broken” weapon meta. However, WhosImmortal has a simple fix that could help fix this issue. Warzone Season 3 Reloaded brought with it a huge amount of changes to the game’s weapons, but the biggest and most controversial addition was the increase in player health. Instead of having 100 HP, players now have 150 across all modes, including Private Matches. This increase may not sound that significant at first, but when Armor plates are factored in, player HP sits at a whopping 300 health. Obviously, this has had a dramatic impact on the game’s current TTK and overall weapon diversity. While Warzone’s health change has the community split, WhosImmortal believes he has found the perfect fix that will help improve the “broken” weapon meta. WhosImmortal on fixing “broken” Warzone weapon meta “Warzone TTK is obviously slower for every single weapon in the game, and every single gun requires two to five extra shots to kill now. Because of that coinciding with certain Season meta changes, we now have a very awkward meta,” explained WhosImmortal. The streamer notes that the added tankieness has led to certain guns stealing the show, with only a few ARs and Snipers being viable options. “That very open and diverse meta is kind of dwindling,” said the streamer. “Vanguard guns are clearly dominating the meta, because of the changes to health.” In fact, weapons from both Cold War and Modern Warfare often struggle to come anywhere close in terms of DPS. This has led to an influx of Vanguard ARs, Snipers, and SMGs receiving the highest pick rates in the game. One of the main reasons Vanguard weapons are currently outshining their counterparts is largely down to magazine capacity. Timestamp of 4:26 WhosImmortal believes that weapons like the Scar and Oden have great damage, but they ultimately fall off due to their limited ammo – a pitfall that many top-tier Vanguard weapons don’t fall into. Having only enough rounds to down one opponent before needing to reload is obviously problematic at the best of times, especially in duos and quads. “You open up the meta so much more, simply by adding 45 rounds to guns like the Oden and Scar.” WhosImmortal was keen to address that the TTK on a lot of older weapons is decent, however, the current lack of ammo really lets them down. Whether the developers will make any changes to magazine capacity remains to be seen, but for now, Vanguard weapons dominate the meta.

  • WhosImmortal claims MW2 weapons won’t be as effective in Modern Warfare 3 – Dexerto

WhosImmortal claims MW2 weapons won’t be as effective in Modern Warfare 3 ActivisionDespite being able to use Modern Warfare 2 weapons in Modern Warfare 3, WhosImmortal explained why they probably won’t be as effective. Some community members refrained from purchasing anything in MW2, fearing they might lose everything again. Activision eased worries by announcing the Modern Warfare 3 Carry Forward system. MW3 will feature its own weapons and content set, but all MW2 operators, weapons, and more will be available to use in the next game. Players will use their leveled-up weapons and unlocked attachments in the next series installment. The system also allows users to carry over their favorite mastery camos. However, even if you can wield MW2 weapons in MW3, WhosImmortal argued that doesn’t necessarily mean they need to be good. MW2 guns thriving in Modern Warfare 3 would be bad for business WhosImmortal made his case for why Modern Warfare 2 weapons won’t be as effective in Modern Warfare 3. “I would imagine most MW2 won’t be all that effective in MW3 because then you wouldn’t have a reason to buy MW3 and level up the new guns and buy bundles for the new guns.” The YouTuber continued: “They are obviously going to try to monetize the heck out of MW3 as is. The more MW2 weapons that are effective, the less you need to spend money for MW3 specified content.” So for MW2 Ranked Play players and fans of the CDL growing fearful of another year of only seeing the TAQ-56 and Vaznev-9K, the YouTuber would be “surprised” if they remain relevant. Even if MW2 weapons aren’t meta in Sledgehammer’s upcoming game, being able to use attachments on MW3 weapons is a game-changer. One of the hardest parts of leveling up weapons is being forced to use them initially without attachments. The Carry Forward program helps alleviate that problem and gives players who own MW2 a leg up at the start of the next game. Don’t let WhosImmortal’s speculation sway you away from leveling up weapons in MW2 because those attachments will come in handy. If you are curious about what weapons are coming in Modern Warfare 3, check out the full leaked list.

  • WhosImmortal claims “afterthought” Warzone LMG is actually OP in Season 3 – Dexerto

WhosImmortal claims “afterthought” Warzone LMG is actually OP in Season 3 ActivisionWhosImmortal is one of the most reputable names in the Warzone game and consistently provides the community with excellent loadouts and setups. Now he’s back with an off-the-wall Modern Warfare LMG pick that he claims is secretly overpowered. It’s no secret that Warzone’s guns are all pretty competent. While there are a few that nearly everyone strays away from (like the MK2. Carbine) there aren’t many guns that can’t be wielded well by a player who is skilled enough. However, when the game’s most well-informed names highlight a gun that is over-performing against expectations, then there’s a good chance the rest of the community should be taking it for a test run to figure out exactly where it belongs in the meta. That’s the exact situation building up around WhosImmortal’s strange new recommendation. WhosImmortal claims forgotten Modern Warfare LMG is overpowered The PKM had a small run in the sun back in the days of the OG Verdansk, but it has been quite some time since it got any real love in the Warzone scene. Immortal went so far as to call the gun an afterthought for the devs but also promised that it’s a more than viable option thanks to a fast TTK. After making his claim, he went on to show off the setup that could convert any nonbelievers. PKM Loadout Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor – Barrel: 26.9″ Extended Barrel – Laser: Tac Laser – Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic – Underbarrel: Snatch Grip – Outside of the Snatch Grip, there’s nothing outside of the usual here, but all of the attachments help keep the slow-moving juggernaut up to pace. The 26.9″ Extended Barrel ensures that every bullet hits with ridiculous impact and the Tac Laser adds an extra speed boost that is desperately needed for a gun of this size. It’s unlikely that this will knock off the STG-44 or the XM4 as the preferred primary of players across the world, but it packs a big enough punch to warrant giving it a run just in case.

  • Wholesome Warzone: player befriends 11-year-old who gets bullied in-game – Dexerto

Wholesome Warzone: player befriends 11-year-old who gets bullied in-game ActivisionCall of Duty Warzone has over 100 million players, but one gamer was able to catch this heartwarming moment with an 11-year-old who has been bullied nonstop by random players. With Warzone running wild with sweats and hackers, we may forget that there are some casual players out there who just want to enjoy their time. Verdansk can for sure get emotions running high, whether clutching up a 1v4 for the win, falling to your death, or trash-talking in game. It’s reasonable to get caught up in the action, but sometimes it’s worth taking a breath and remembering how diverse the player base is. In a moment that made headlines on Reddit, Warzone players are reminded that Verdansk has some innocent soldiers. Toxicity and trash talk are part of the game, but ‘Quzga’ befriended an 11-year-old and, in doing so, proved why people should ease off the bullying. Warzone player befriends victim of bullying This Reddit post by Quzga made the top of the Warzone subreddit after capturing the moment of a young player telling his teammate how he has been bullied by other random players. You can hear in the clip that the kid said he has had teammates that tricked him into giving away his weapons and not buying him back when they had enough money to do so. He said it made him sad and he deleted Warzone at one point. Quzga went on to reply to his initial post saying that the other teammates had told him to shut up, so he took it in his own hands to talk to the kid and teach him some things about Warzone. The 11-year-old’s reaction will melt your heart. According to Quzga the kid said he was the first person that wasn’t mean to him. The community replied to the post asking for the player’s Activision ID so they could party up and get some wins in Verdansk. Other players also praised Quzga for his actions as one Redditor said, “That was some nice wholesomeness that was good to wake up to. Also good on you for that one as a gamer and a dad I know how toxic online Games can be, you probably made that kid’s day.”

  • Who won when OpTic CoD squared off in the ultimate chicken nugget challenge? – Dexerto

Who won when OpTic CoD squared off in the ultimate chicken nugget challenge? Pixabay / MLGCall of Duty squad are well known for their incredible skill with a controller in their hand, but three of their star players squared off in the ultimate battle – a chicken nugget eating contest. Like all good athletes, the OpTic CoD boys clearly take nutrition seriously, accepting Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter’s chicken nugget challenge to see who out of Seth ‘Scump’ Abner, Brandon ‘Dashy’ Otell, and Thomas ‘TJHaly’ Haly could devour a full box of 20 nuggets first. OpTic Gaming are used to winning championships together, but it was every man for themselves in this competition, with Crimsix filming for YouTube, and watching out for any ‘fowl play.’ After some pacing from Scump, Crim finally got all three contests to their starting positions on the couch, and enlisted the help of teammate Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow who wisely chose not to participate, to start proceedings. Dashy may be counted as one of, if not the best Black Ops 4 players in the world, but his eating skills leave a lot to be desired, with the AR player left lagging well behind his teammates, with Crimsix eventually telling him to stop because he was so far behind. The battle between the other two was close, with TJHaly storming ahead, but Scump mounting a late comeback to find himself on level pegging with just two nuggets left each. In the end, though, the “Iceman” TJHaly was the king of chicken consumption, ramming both of his remaining nuggets into this mouth to secure victory in OpTic’s most important tournament of the year. “Get the fuck off me,” a victorious TJHaly shouted, before shaking hands with his rival to congratulate him on a close battle. The idea of the challenge came around after Scump claimed he would be able to eat 50 nuggets in 15 minutes, but with the legendary CoD player barely eating 20 in 10, it seems like his boasting was extremely misplaced. While Haly was the eventual winner, it doesn’t look like it was worth it, with the pro player sitting with his head in his hands, before standing up to release a huge burp. Karma was on hand to bring a wastebasket in case of any incidents, but thankfully all three players were able to keep the nuggets in the stomachs!

  • Who won when Crimsix faced off against his OpTic teammates in Black Ops 4? – Dexerto

Who won when Crimsix faced off against his OpTic teammates in Black Ops 4? Long time OpTic Gaming member Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter got an opportunity to see what it’s like to play against his own team when he faced off against them in the finals of an online tournament. The American was teaming up with iLLeY and Cellium for a 3v3 Search and Destroy tournament and the trio managed to progress to the grand finals of the competition. Unfortunately, waiting for them on the other side of the bracket was none other than his current OpTic teammates – Scump, Dashyy and TJHaLy. Game one ended up being an extremely close affair, with OpTic racing into a 2-0 lead thanks to some impressive plays by captain Seth ‘Scump’ Abner. The teams traded back and forth throughout the round, with Crimsix and his cohorts winning two round back-to-back to finally take a 5-4 lead, leaving them needing only one round to secure the victory. OpTic were able to steal the next round from Porter’s squad, leading to a tense Round 11 between Crimsix and his teammates. Cellium was able to pick up both Scump and Dashy in quick succession, leaving Crim to clean up TJHaLy with a cry of: “Let’s go baby!” Scump and his squad were able to win the second game of the series, but in the end fell to Crimsix, Cellium and iLLeY in the third and final map. While it was fun to see Crimsix go head-to-head against Scump once again, they’ll need to get on the same page at CWL Las Vegas, the first competitive event of the 2018/19 Call of Duty season.

  • Who is the CoD Burner? The story of competitive Call of Duty’s greatest mystery – Dexerto

Who is the CoD Burner? The story of competitive Call of Duty’s greatest mystery Who is the CoD Burner? This is a question that has been asked by the competitive Call of Duty community more than any other in recent months and it looks like the mystery will continue for a long time to come. The CoD Burner account, known as CoDBurner2018mania on Reddit, has been dropping major transfer rumors and news since it was originally created on April 11 this year. At first the leaks were waved off as coincidences and guesswork but the accuracy of CoD Burner’s predictions about some roster moves meant that the Call of Duty esports scene had to sit up and start taking notice. CoD Burner’s time in the limelight really began when the account started to share intel on OpTic Gaming’s legendary roster that split up in May. While some details in CoD Burner’s predictions did not prove to be true, the accuracy was still high enough to convince people that the owner of the account had access to behind the scenes information. One of the most significant moments in the story of the CoD Burner came when the account posted an image of Luminosity Gaming playing with OpTic’s Matthew ‘FormaL’ Piper. While the image seemed to confirm some of the accounts predictions, the bigger news was that it seemed to highlight one particular player as the owner of the account. The image showed eUnited’s Alec ‘Arcitys’ Sanderson highlighted as the player that took the picture, making him the number one suspect – something that he denied vehemently. The account then disappeared and seemed to be gone for good, but the end of Call of Duty: WWII season and the approaching rostermania brought it back out of the woodwork, leaking information about potential Black Ops 4 season news. This time around the news being shared by the CoD Burner account appeared to be more personal and sensitive, once again adding to the suspicion that the owner was a professional player or coach. Brian ‘Saintt’ Baroska, the coach of eUnited, was one of the names put forward by the community and the former professional player revealed that those allegations nearly cost him his job. Some community members are convinced that a large number of professional players know who owns the CoD Burner account, and some even believe that it is run by multiple people, but it looks like any confirmation is still a long way away. With competitive Call of Duty switching to a 5 vs 5 format for the Black Ops 4 season, expect to see many more CoD Burner leaks in the coming weeks.

  • Who is the CDL’s most underrated player? Scump, FormaL and more decide – Dexerto

Who is the CDL’s most underrated player? Scump, FormaL and more decide The Call of Duty League has finally begun, and while much of the focus has been on superstars like Seth ‘Scump‘ Abner and Matthew ‘FormaL‘ Piper, there has also been plenty of players who have slipped under the radar. With the Call of Duty scene moving to a franchised format, and well-known esports orgs like 100 Thieves and eUnited giving way to new, city-based outfits, the offseason roster shuffle was one of the biggest fans had ever seen. Plenty of rising stars landed on franchises outside of the table-topping limelight of squads like Chicago and Dallas, and may not have got the kudos they deserve despite ripping up Modern Warfare in its early days in the pro scene. While some pros picked obvious names out of the hat—Scump put forward Simp, despite the FaZe star holding the title of reigning CWL MVP, and FormaL suggested Chicago teammate Envoy—others looked off the beaten road for their answers. According to Minnesota’s Justin ‘SiLLY’ Fargo, Preston ‘Prestinni’ Sanderson is still underrated “despite winning Champs,” adding “if he goes off, Florida will always win.” It was a sentiment Prestinni agreed with, as he named himself. The Mutineers star wasn’t the only player to point the finger at himself either, with Toronto’s Anthony ‘Methodz’ Zinni saying his own name because “people don’t remember [he] was an SMG player before World War II,” and dubbing him “slow.” Paris’ Luke ‘Louqa’ Rigas and Conrad ‘Shockz’ Rymarek also made the list, with squadmate Matthew ‘KiSMET’ Tinsley suggesting the Australian duo were “bound for big things,” while London’s Dylan ‘Dylan’ Henderson rounded out the list. There were also some that believed there are “no underrated players in the CDL,” including Ravens pair Jordan ‘Jurd’ Crowley and Bradley ‘wuskin’ Marshall, while New York SMG star Dillon ‘Attach’ Price said there were too many to pick just one.

  • Who is Ghosty? OpTic Texas’ new unknown CDL star – Dexerto

Who is Ghosty? OpTic Texas’ new unknown CDL star The RotationOpTic Texas just added Daniel ‘Ghosty’ Rothe as the newest member to its CDL roster, and most people don’t know the story of this remarkable young talent. OpTic Texas constructed a roster of Brandon ‘Dashy,’ ‘Huke,’ ‘iLLeY,’ and ‘Shottzy’ for the Major 2 cycle. The new-look team went on a tear in the final two weeks of qualifying, going 3-1 and securing the first seed for Major 2. In Boston, OpTic had a fine showing before falling to the Los Angeles Thieves in the loser’s semi-finals. A fourth place wasn’t good enough as OpTic once again reshuffled its deck, this time turning to an amateur player. Ghosty steps into the CDL spotlight after balancing life as a college student while chasing his dream of becoming a professional Call of Duty player. Who is OpTic’s new player Ghosty? On February 9, OpTic Texas announced the signing of Ghosty in place of iLleY. Ghosty is currently a pre-law student at the University of Illinois, and he started his CoD career by joining the schools esports team in 2020. It wasn’t until 2022 that Ghosty got his first big break with the Boston Breach Academy team. He moved in with popular professional CoD player Doug ‘Censor’ Martin at the end of Call of Duty: Vanguard. However, his time with Boston was short-lived, as he started the Modern Warfare 2 Challengers season with Iron Blood Gaming (IBG). IBG had a slow start to the season, placing top 16 and top 8, respectively, in the first two North American Cups, and then placed top 12 at the CDC Raleigh Open. The roster decided to go separate ways, heading into CDC Elite Stage 1. Longtime CoD veteran Tyler ‘Felo’ Johnson created a Challengers team called TFeL Enterprises and picked up Ghosty. The team gelled well, placing second in the Elite Stage 1 Playoffs. The Rotation named Ghosty as the Elite Stage 1 MVP, leading the amateur league in hardpoint and overall KD. After finding success together, FeLo and Ghosty joined forces again on Decimate Gaming with ‘Ulisses’ and former CDL pro ‘2Real.’ Decimate Gaming went on to win the fifth NA Cup and the CDC Boston Open. In the Boston Open Final against the RØKKR Academy, Ghosty posted an unreal 1.35 KD, and 98 of his 131 kills were non-traded kills, meaning he was doing a lot of the work on his own. And in the Semi-finals against Elevate, Ghosty had a 1.45 KD in a dominant 3-0 series sweep. Against former CDL pros Spart, Neptune, and Diamondcon, the rising star had a 1.30 KD in a 3-1 series victory as well. OpTic Texas doesn’t usually rely on amateur talent, but the Green Wall may have just swooped up the next big name in Call of Duty.

  • Who is developing Call of Duty 2021? Release date, more – Dexerto

Who is developing Call of Duty 2021? Release date, more ActivisionWith fans having Black Ops Cold War for a couple of months now, they are already thinking ahead to what Call of Duty 2021 could bring. Unlike previous years, it’s not entirely clear which development studio will be in control of the upcoming FPS title. Up until 2020’s Black Ops Cold War, Call of Duty fans could wager a pretty accurate guess at which of Activision’s development studios would be behind the upcoming game, even long before its confirmation. A three-year cycle was established, with Treyarch, Infinity Ward, and Sledgehammer Games alternating year on year. For example, 2014’s Advanced Warfare was the product of Sledgehammer Games, 2015’s Black Ops III came from Treyarch, and 2016’s Infinite Warfare was developed by Infinity Ward. By that cycle, this year’s Black Ops Cold War should have been the work of Sledgehammer Games. However, rumors state that disarray and slow progress at SHG resulted in the project being thrown the way of veteran devs Treyarch. What followed was Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Who’s developing Call of Duty 2021: Infinity Ward, Raven, or Sledgehammer Games? We’ll start off by taking a look at Infinity Ward. The devs of 2019’s Modern Warfare have been long-time developers of CoD titles, perhaps best known for the original Modern Warfare trilogy released from 2007-2011. Read More: All Warzone bunkers: locations, map, codes – They seem like outside contenders for CoD 2021, given the fact that Modern Warfare’s life cycle only ended a few months ago. Though there have been rumors of a sequel to their 2019 Modern Warfare, it seems unlikely to come just two years after their previous title was released. It’s unlikely to see Treyarch developing the next iteration, with them being thrown in at the deep end because of Sledgehammer’s issues. Next up, we’ll take a look at Raven. We’re considering them the long shots for CoD 2021. Their involvement in Activision’s FPS series has largely been as a support studio – helping Infinity Ward with Modern Warfare Remastered and Warzone. Their incremental involvement is conducive to being a lead studio in the future, but we’re not sure they’re quite there yet. Right now, this studio is focusing a lot on Warzone. Finally, and favorite to take the reigns on CoD 2021 is Sledgehammer Games. As previously mentioned, they were set to be behind CoD 2020, but behind-the-scenes issues prevented them from doing so and pushed it into Treyarch’s hands. Why are Sledgehammer the favorites for CoD 2021? During the interim year, we’ve seen reports that SHG has expanded their staff numbers by over 150 people, suggesting something big is in the works. What’s more, certain leakers – namely TheGamingRevolution and Tom Henderson – have hinted that they’ve heard SHG are in the driving seat for CoD 2021. Whether they’ll be supported by Raven or Beenox remains to be seen. On December 31, 2020, Sledgehammer posted a cryptic tweet, simply stating “Power off. Power on. Let’s try this again. Happy New Year!” Power off. Power on. Let’s try this again. Happy New Year! — Sledgehammer Games (@SHGames) December 31, 2020 It’s looking incredibly likely that Sledgehammer Games is set to develop the upcoming title, if the cryptic tweet is anything to go by. Call of Duty 2021 release date As of yet, little information is available in regards to when fans can get their hands on the newest title in the franchise. Following similar release title windows, it can be speculated that we might see something around Autumn 2021, but that’s yet to be seen. Make sure to stay tuned over at our dedicated Call of Duty main page for all upcoming news and guides. Check back here often, as Dexerto will be hot on any upcoming info about 2021’s release.

  • Who Belongs on the Mount Rushmore of Call of Duty Esports? – Dexerto

Who Belongs on the Mount Rushmore of Call of Duty Esports? Call of Duty esports has had a rich history full of big names and top performers that have all contributed to the immense growth of the scene into becoming what it is today. With so many superstar and championship caliber players that have graced the competitive scene of Call of Duty, it is nearly impossible to single out who are the best of the best. Reddit user ‘Jasonfive7’ posed this question on the CoDCompetitive subreddit page, opening up an interesting discussion. Who would you have if a ‘Mount Rushmore’ of CoD was made? Mine would be Nadeshot, Crimsix, Karma and Scump. Of course, for those who are not aware, Mount Rushmore is a mountain into which a large sculpture is carved that depicts four of the greatest presidents in US history. Therefore, the term has been made used when referring to the four greatest names in a profession, particularly in sports. The names that the Reddit post mentions all have strong grounds to be in the Mount Rushmore of Call of Duty. While he was never considered the best, Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag’s success and electric leadership is the reason why he remains one of the most iconic names in the esport’s history. Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter has a record 32 major tournament wins, and Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow is the only player with three CoD Championship rings. Seth ‘Scump’ Abner, aside from his 28 tournament wins, is often considered to be one of the most talented and dominant players of his generation. However, longtime competitors and former World Champions Patrick ‘Aches’ Price, James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks, Jordan ‘JKap’ Kaplan, Raymond ‘Rambo’ Lussier, Will ‘BigTymer’ Johnson, and others all could make a strong case that they too belong. What about players who have retired to become organization owners, such as Team EnVy’s Mike ‘Hastr0’ Rufail and OpTic Gaming’s Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez? Those two have certainly been huge contributors to the growth of CoD esports. Read More: Octane On Leaving Luminosity to Join OpTic Gaming “Leaving the best team in the game for a chance is never easy” – All in all, it certainly is difficult to separate four names above the rest in competitive CoD. Be sure to tweet us who you think belongs on the Mount Rushmore of Call of Duty.

  • White Supremacist Groups Reportedly Using Fortnite, Call of Duty and Minecraft to Recruit Young People – Dexerto

White Supremacist Groups Reportedly Using Fortnite, Call of Duty and Minecraft to Recruit Young People A former white supremacist turned peace advocate and author has confirmed what some have speculated in the past – that hate groups use online multiplayer games to prey on potential recruits. This is not a wholly new idea, considering if you were to look for easy communication with large numbers of young people with malleable mindsets who don’t have their guard up, multiplayer gaming is a well populated zone. But as a former white supremacist, Christian Picciolini has an insight into the recruiting methods of these groups unlike most, and in more depth than it is perhaps possible for law enforcement to comprehend. During a recent Reddit AMA, Picciolini was discussing various aspects of how white supremacy and other hate groups operate, went into detail about their use of gaming in recruitment. More: PewDiePie Accuses of Tana Mongeau of Scamming Fans After Failed TanaCon – “She should go to jail” – When asked generally about the predatory nature of recruitment, Picciolini mentioned multiplayer gaming specifically as one of the more modern methods. Did you see a lot of predatory behavior on poor and disenfranchised youth when you were younger in the recruiting methods the groups used? What was the common type of person who would join one of these groups? Picciolini: Absolutely! We sought marginalized youth and promised them “paradise.” Today they are using nefarious tactics like going to depression and mental health forums and in multiplayer gaming to recruit those same people. You mentioned multiplayer games. Do white supremacists have people who just sit and play Overwatch, League, that type of thing and just spam their slurs or what is that tactic like? Picciolini: They drop benign hints and then ramp up when hooked. And when asked what kind of games in particular, Picciolini named some of the most modern trending games – including Fortnite, Minecraft and Call of Duty. He also seems to suggest that this tactic is one most associated with groups based in Eastern Europe. Fortnight [Fortnite], Minecraft, COD, all of them. Yes, mostly foreign recruiters from Russia and eastern Europe and Poland. Games such as Fortnite and Minecraft are more specifically targeted at children, with Minecraft being rated for ages 3 and above, Fortnite 12 and above. Call of Duty games are typically rated for 17 or 18 year olds, but it is common for many people younger to be playing these games too. It is a significant word of warning from someone with inside knowledge of these kinds of operations and groups and one that will instil a sense of awareness in young players. Anyone suspicious of interactions possibly linked to hate groups during multiplayer gaming should report them to authorities and also flag the accounts to the gaming network (PSN, Xbox Live, Steam etc. all have methods to report hateful behavior).

  • Which Call of Duty is being remastered? Activision tease classic remake – Dexerto

Which Call of Duty is being remastered? Activision tease classic remake ActivisionActivision have hinted that a remastered Call of Duty could be in the pipeline along with their 2020 release, but what classic remake can we expect? With Treyarch rumored to be at the helm of Call of Duty’s next release, plenty are looking forward to seeing what David Vonderhaar and co. can produce. Reports suggest that Treyarch are currently working with Sledgehammer Games to produce a Black Ops prequel, based around the events of the Cold War. Activision tease a remaster During Activision’s fourth-quarter conference call, Activision confirmed that a Call of Duty game was indeed in development for a 2020 release. Read more: Modern Warfare Season 2 leaked – While this might appear obvious – considering that a new title has been released every year since 2005 – there were doubts after Sledgehammer were reportedly cut mid-way through their development cycle. Moreover, Activision hinted towards the inclusion of a remastered Call of Duty title during their earnings call. But which classic game will Treyarch be looking to push with their game? Treyarch taking Black Ops to next-gen? Providing that the reports of Treyarch taking the reigns hold substance, it would be logical for a remastered title to pay homage to their flagship series. And what better way to bring their iconic game to next-generation consoles? With both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X set to launch during the 2020 holiday season, the next Call of Duty title will need to bridge the gap between both consoles. On paper, this provides Treyarch with the perfect opportunity to revive the series, by giving fans a reboot of where it all began. Where’s Modern Warfare 2 remastered? While fans everywhere are craving a new-generation Modern Warfare 2, Infinity Ward’s opportunity to push out a remake is dwindling away. There was previously lots of rumors, seemingly confirming a remaster of the classic 2009 title. With Modern Warfare’s series reboot currently dipping its toes into Infinity Ward’s previous releases’ storyline, there is a possibility that the developer might release the Modern Warfare 2 campaign remake as a bolt-on to the single-player embedded into their current title. Of course, while a remaster could be definitely on the cards, there has been no official announcement on the developer from Activision’s corner at the time of writing. Indeed, there is a possibility that a remastered version of Crash Bandicoot or Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater could be coming to next-gen. Should Treyarch be steering the ship, it certainly makes sense for a Black Ops remake to make its way onto the next-generation of consoles.

  • Which Call of Duty had the best Nuketown map? Ranked – Dexerto

Which Call of Duty had the best Nuketown map? Ranked TreyarchNuketown is the most iconic map from Treyarch’s Black Ops series and arguably the Call of Duty franchise as a whole, but which remake of the popular map was the best? Black Ops is Treyarch’s flagship Call of Duty series. Following on from the events of World at War, the Black Ops series delves into conspiracy theories, espionage and political warfare. While Black Ops’ narrative has remained much the same throughout, Treyarch’s series has dipped into different timepoints along the way… The Cold War, futuristic warfare, more futuristic warfare and then somewhere in-between with Black Ops 4. Yet one thing that has remained a trademark to the Black Ops experience, is Nuketown. Being one of the smallest maps in Call of Duty, Nuketown was originally based on a typical 1950s suburb. As the name suggests, the map was used as a testing facility to demonstrate the effects of nuclear weapons. Filled to the brim with mannequins and all of the trimmings which you’d expect a residential area to have, Nuketown soon became a big hit with fans, due to the hectic, close-quarters combat which it encourages. Given the map’s popularity, plenty have been having their say on which version of Nuketown they preferred. Being a symmetrical map, Nuketown has sported a variety of game types throughout its time in the Black Ops’ map pool. Players are also greeted with an animation of a nuclear bomb rising from beneath the estate during the post-match scoreboard sequence — a feature exclusive to Nuketown. Given the map’s iconic status in the Call of Duty franchise, we have ranked each iteration that Treyarch have provided over the years and listed them in descending order while listening to the voice that matters the most — yours! After playing #BlackOpsColdWar‘s Nuketown ’84… Which CoD game would you say had the best Nuketown map? pic.twitter.com/V5pSK15V82 — DEXERTO Call of Duty (@DexertoIntel) November 27, 2020 5. Black Ops Cold War Nuketown ’84 (2020) The long-awaited inclusion of the famous Nuketown map in Black Ops Cold War proved to be somewhat of a disappointment for long-time fans of the multiplayer map. While the colors are no doubt better and brighter than those in Black Ops 4, there were a number of reasons that we’ve put Nuketown ’84 at the bottom of our ranked list. The biggest issue with ’84 is the fact the fences are far too low. This means that players on both teams can immediately shoot at each other from spawn, rather than giving players a chance to get to cover. The visibility across the rest of the map is also poor, making tactical plays tricky. Finally, there is also a documented glitch that allows players to access out-of-bounds areas, giving them an unfair advantage. Overall, not the best work from the BOCW developers. 4. Black Ops 4 Nuketown (2018) Nuketown’s fourth remake was met with a mixed bag of reviews. Set in a Russian nuclear missile testing site from the Cold War, the map brought an icy feel to what was previously noted to be a color-filled landscape. The RC-XD passageway from the original Nuketown still held its place in the map, but gave players an insight into what lies beneath. Maneuvering the killstreak through the underground alley, players could navigate past the subterranean missile silo where the warhead is situated. The underground passage for the RC-XD was an easter egg in which fans lapped up, while the slight adjustments to the layout supported Black Ops 4’s contemporary in-game mechanics. It’s for this reason why some loved Treyarch fourth iteration of Nuketown. Yet there always felt like there was something missing. The color scheme was a far cry from what fans had become accustomed to, plus some of the Specialist’s abilities felt foreign and out of place (such as Ruin’s Grapple Gun). Thus, plenty of fans hold conflicting views of the iconic map’s uprooting. 3. Nuk3town: Black Ops 3 (2015) Set in a simulation some forty years after the events of Black Ops 2, the more aptly named ‘Nuk3town’ remained a part of Black Ops’ core multiplayer experience (regardless of the overhauled movement system). After devastation struck Nuketown 2025, the Coalescence Corporation’s simulation was designed to support a new way to traverse around the map. More colorful than ever before, Nuk3town’s fresh lick of paint appeared to hit the spot. Mannequins redesigned to look like AI robots, cars transformed into something Bruce Wayne would cruise around in, and buses with pixels rising from them — yep, Treyarch out-did themselves on the cosmetic front. Three easter eggs were embedded in Nuk3town, each of which revolved around shooting heads and limbs from the android-themed mannequins to prompt zombie-esque outbreak. Heck, Treyarch even included a shrewd reference to the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who with one of the hidden gems. Given the developer’s efforts to spruce up the nuclear testing facility, there are some fans who rank Black Ops 3’s iteration above all others… A bold statement given the animosity which the game faced on the whole. 2. Nuketown: Black Ops (2010) Where it all began. Initially embarked upon as a side project by Adam Hoggatt, a prototype framework was put together in a mere two days. Little did Hoggatt know that he was laying the foundations for a map that would transcend throughout various console generations. Nuketown was inspired by a scene from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, where Indy stumbled upon a replica 1950s suburb that acted as a nuclear testing facility — complete with the eerie, lifeless mannequins which would make their way onto Nuketown. Nuketown soon proved a popular addition among Call of Duty fans, and Treyarch responded suitably by adding a ‘Nuketown 24/7’ playlist which supported both Team Tactical and Free-For-All gametypes. Sniper duels from house-to-house, chaotic mid-map engagements, spawn trapping enemies with a Chopper Gunner… Treyarch created memories that would resonate with players for years. Despite its flaws, Nuketown was loved by fans everywhere. Therefore, even a full decade on from its release, many still rank the original render of this map as their favorite. 1. Nuketown 2025: Black Ops 2 (2012) In a similar fashion to the ‘Best Call of Duty game of the decade,’ Treyarch out-did themselves with Nuketown 2025. Somehow, David Vonderhaar and co. topped their previous efforts. The original map received a complete aesthetic overhaul. From the outside looking in, it seemed almost as if someone from Treyarch plucked ‘the retro’ from the 1960s and the futuristic style of Black Ops 2, smashed them together and hey presto, Nuketown 2025 was the offspring. And obviously, they made the right call. Since Nuketown soared to the top as the most played map in Black Ops history, a remake of the now-trademark map was inevitable. Dubbed the “Model Home of the Future,” Nuketown’s remodel also fixed some key spawn issues that clouded the original. Treyarch hit the nail on the head. Combining more balanced conflict with the contemporary vibe and players poured thousands of hours into Nuketown 2025. Will a map ever top Nuketown’s second iteration? Both TheAngelol and Aero Panther have compiled a list that reflects our current rankings, and the majority of Twitter appeared to agree. Of course, there have been multiple renditions of Nuketown outside of the main four listed above. Nuketown has appeared in Black Ops 4’s ‘Blackout’ battle royale, as well as featuring in Tencent Games’ Call of Duty: Mobile. Not to forget the Zombies version of the map, which plays on the aftermath of the multiplayer’s end-of-game sequence. One thing that fans everywhere will agree on, is that Nuketown embodies everything that is at the core of the Call of Duty multiplayer experience: fun, close-quarters combat that you could enjoy for hours on end.

  • Which Black Ops 4 weapon sight is the best in multiplayer and Blackout? – Dexerto

Which Black Ops 4 weapon sight is the best in multiplayer and Blackout? Call of Duty fans are always hunting for ways to gain an advantage over their opponents. In Black Ops 4, finding the best weapon sight can make a huge difference. The recoil pattern of your weapon in the latest installment to the Black Ops series can change depending on whether you are using a sight or not and on which sight you select. This happens across both Black Ops 4 multiplayer and the battle royale gamemode Blackout, so it’s important to know which sights suit your needs in different situations. YouTuber and Call of Duty expert XclusiveAce has taken an in-depth look at the game’s sights and predictive recoil pattern in an attempt to find out which optic is the best in each game mode. While testing these sights on an ICR-7 assault rifle in multiplayer, Ace was able to see that the Recon scope reduces your weapons recoil the most, lowering the weapons kick by an estimated 50%. Compared to the Reflex scope, which is one of the most popular to use, this is huge, as the Reflex actually appears to add 20% more recoil to the weapon. The Reflex sight also doesn’t appear to make a huge difference to other weapons either, only slightly improving the recoil on a Maddox, but not enough to make it noticeable in game. In terms of Blackout, the ELO and Holographic sights make very little difference to weapon’s recoil patterns, but much like the ICR-7 in multiplayer, the Reflex scope actually adds a little kick to weapons. For longer range scopes, the 2x and 3x scopes reduce recoil, however the 4x appears to add it, meaning that you’re trading accuracy out for distance if you decide to equip one.

  • Where to find weapon silos in Warzone and what’s inside them – Dexerto

Where to find weapon silos in Warzone and what’s inside them ActivisionWith the launch of Warzone and Black Ops Cold War Season 2, three weapon silos have arrived in Verdansk, offering players weapons, cash and loot to help get you on your way. While Warzone hasn’t seen a great number of map changes since it first launched back in March 2020, Season 2 has brought with it a few new features. As well as the new Ship POI that has brought Zombies back to Verdansk, weapon silos look set to become popular hotspots. With just three of them dotted across Verdansk, you’ll likely find yourself regularly contested when dropping at any of them, but the rewards could make it very much worth it. Warzone weapon silo locations Each of these weapon silos come stacked with multiple floors worth of loot. Be it cash, weapons or Field Upgrades that you need, you’ll easily leave these with plenty to help you catch the win you’re looking for. Map of Warzone weapon silos In case you’re stuck looking for these silos, here’s a map of where each of them are located in Warzone Season 2. While we don’t know much about future seasons, it’s possible that these move or change as the seasons progress. So, with that, you should have enough to help you drop in to Verdansk and immediately start with a bang. Be warned, though: these silos are like mazes, and you can very easily get lost in them the first few times you drop in. Once you’ve looted up and cleared out, you might want to take some time to familiarize yourself with the layout of each one to save getting lost in the future.

  • Where to find Warzone Season 4 satellite crash sites: All Sat-Link locations – Dexerto

Where to find Warzone Season 4 satellite crash sites: All Sat-Link locations ActivisionWith the launch of Season 4, Raven have added Sat-Links to Warzone alongside the new Satellite Crash Sites POI. Here’s where you can find them, how to use them and what you get in return. Season 4 is proving to be huge for Warzone. There are new POIs, Red Doors have been added to grant high-tier loot and a number of weapons have been buffed and nerfed. Season 3 brought in the first map changes to Warzone, but Season 4 is adding several new POIs in the form of the Satellite Crash Sites. So, at the Crash Sites locations listed below, you can interact with Sat-Links to procure loot and complete Ground Fall event challenges. Here’s what you need to know and how to do it. Where to find Sat-Link stations in Warzone Season 4 The hardest part about this challenge is actually finding the Sat-Link stations. Keep your eyes peeled for wreckages at the following locations: Krovnik Farmland: Right in the middle of some poor farmer’s crops is one crashed satellite, its fuselage split into multiple parts amid the field. – Bloc 18: Closer to the once-sleepy village near the Salt Mines lies another downed satellite. Its location leaves it open to Operators parachuting down from the Radar Array. – Bloc 16: Deep within the Gora riverbed near the Airport Control Tower, a more intact satellite sits ready to be explored. – Gora Bridge: Spanning the Gora River between Downtown Fire Station 12 and the Promenade Fairgrounds, this bridge saw a direct impact from the downed satellite, taking a chunk out of its brickwork. – Then, somewhere around these locations, you should seek out a small box with a satellite dish sat on top of it. Once you’ve found that, you’re onto a winner. How to crash a satellite & get rewards To crash a satellite in Warzone, all you have to do is simply press the button to interact with the Sat-Link, and it will send down a crashed satellite with loot in it. Be careful though: this crashed satellite will be visible to everyone on the map, meaning players will be able to scout you out much easier as they’ll know your rough location. In terms of rewards, it’s not exactly clear what the variety is, but you can get high-tier loot such as Loadout Drop Markers, H.A.R.P Advanced UAVs and more. Be careful, though: especially at the start of Season 4, these crash site POIs will be heavily contested and could result in some early exits to the Gulag.

  • Where to find the car crash Site Near the observatory in Warzone 2 DMZ – Dexerto

Where to find the car crash Site Near the observatory in Warzone 2 DMZ ActivisionSeason 2 introduces a new set of missions to Warzone 2 DMZ, one of which demands keen detective work. Here is how to complete the Break Check mission. The Warzone 2 Season 2 update delivered plenty of fresh content for DMZ fans. Season 2 features a progress wipe, resetting mission progress, contraband weapon inventories, and key stashes. DMZ players were reluctant to the change but came around when they learned that insured weapon slots remain unlocked. Infinity Ward focused on making DMZ still feel fresh for players who already accomplished everything during Season 1. With that in mind, the new missions were designed to utilize all three exclusion zones. Unfortunately, one mission spanning across caused more than a few headaches for community members. Let’s jump right into what’s required for the Break Check mission in DMZ. How to complete the Break Check mission in DMZ The first step for Break Check is locating the crash site near Zaya Observatory on Al Mazrah. However, the mission doesn’t give you the exact location of the crash. You can find it on the top ridge of the Observatory. When you reach the crash site, you will find the hard drive next to a flipped-over car on fire. In the image below, the yellow marker reveals the exact location of the crash site. Once you have the hard drive, the next step of the mission requires you to extract the hard drive safely. From there, squads take the hard drive to Ashika Island and drop it off at the Dead Drop in the underground cave system. The difficult part is that if you die, you need to go back to Al Mazrah and start over again. The Waterways Dead Drop Dumpster is tricky to find on Ashika Island, so check out our guide, revealing every Dead Drop location. If you are lucky enough to fend off enemies trying to steal the hard drive from you and AI combatants in the Waterways, dropping it off on Ashika Island is the final step.

  • Where to find Pack-A-Punch in Black Ops Cold War Outbreak mode – Dexerto

Where to find Pack-A-Punch in Black Ops Cold War Outbreak mode ActivisionWhile Outbreak in Black Ops Cold War might be incredibly different compared to other Zombies maps, there are a few things it has in common with its predecessor and one of those is the legendary Pack-A-Punch machine. The Pack-A-Punch machine in Black Ops Zombies is one of the most useful items in the game. It upgrades your weapons so that they deal higher damage and can even add ammo mods that make you deal different types of damage. Normally in Zombies maps, players have to complete certain tasks in order to open the Pack-A-Punch machine, and while some are easier than others to complete, it’s something that has to be done on almost every single map. That’s changed in Black Ops Cold War’s Outbreak mode as the Pack-A-Punch machine is available im every area. Here’s where you can find them. Ruka On Ruka, players will be able to find the Pack-A-Punch machine pretty much on the direct left side of the map, in the Old Farm section. There’s also a Mystery Box spawn there that tends to have a good chance of appearing when the match starts, so you might want to set up shop there for a bit if that’s the case. All in all, it’s probably the best spot out of all three considering it’s the most open, giving you ample room to move around and not get caught by the undead, should you be low on ammo or supplies. Alpine With Alpine, players will be able to find the Pack-A-Punch in the main Lodge towards the north side of the map. It’ll be located near the entrance to the building on the first floor next to the fireplace, so it’s not too hard to get to or to find if you’re looking for it. It’s not a horrible place to get the Pack-A-Punch, although you’ll have to be aware of the Zombies, as they can pretty easily swarm and overpower you if you’re not paying that much attention. Golva Finally, on Golva, players can find the Pack-A-Punch machine in the Upper Town section of the map. This is one of the harder spots to find, as you have to go to the top floor of the main big building in order to find it. This building is directly behind the statue, so it shouldn’t be too hard to spot. It’s also the hardest Pack-A-Punch spot of the 3 maps, as it’s located in an insanely tight hallway with only two doors to go through if you end up getting overwhelmed. It’s best to get in and get out with his machine. Of course, if more maps or areas are added to Outbreak mode in the future, we’ll be sure to update this list accordingly. Until then, however, these are the only spots the Pack-A-Punch appear.

  • Where to find Modern Warfare 2 patch notes in the game menus – Dexerto

Where to find Modern Warfare 2 patch notes in the game menus ActivisionModern Warfare 2’s UI received harsh criticism from fans, but adding patch notes to the CoD HQ is a nice subtle touch. Here’s how to stay up to date with every CoD update in-game. Activision reportedly gained the help of UI designers from the TV streaming app Hulu for Modern Warfare 2, and the decision failed to resonate with community members. Players went as far as calling MW2’s UI the “worst in CoD history.” Difficult-to-navigate menus made finding weapon unlock platforms, Perk Packages, and Gunsmith options a nightmare. Users also called out the game’s unintuitive camo screen. Infinity Ward responded, “we have been working hard on numerous updates to our UI that make accessing and customizing your loadout more seamless.” The developers followed through by improving the camo navigation in the November 22 update and introduced another under-the-radar UI change. How to find patch notes in MW2 menu A Reddit user cleverly noticed you can now access patch notes directly from the Modern Warfare 2 HQ. Here are a few simple steps you need to follow. Open up Modern Warfare 2 or Warzone 2 – On PlayStation, hit the Options Button or the Menu button on Xbox and enter the CoD HQ menu – Scroll down to the Patch Notes section – From there, you should be able to view recent game patch notes – One player responded, “This is a small detail but great and should be standard for a “game as a service” game.” A second user added, “Can’t wait for these patch notes to be a year plus out of date and still on the home page like MW19.” Fans mostly responded positively to the change, but they demand more to get back in their good graces fully.

  • Where to find Krampus in Warzone: Krampus locations for Festive Fervor challenges – Dexerto

Where to find Krampus in Warzone: Krampus locations for Festive Fervor challenges ActivisionThe Warzone & Vanguard Festive Fervor event is here, giving players even more reasons to jump in this holiday season. But on top of all the Christmas fun, a terrifying monster named Krampus is lurking on both sides of the CoD fence. Here’s how you can find him. Just as players are getting to grips with Warzone Pacific and Vanguard Season 1, there’s even more new content hitting this year’s CoD. Festive Fervor is a special holiday event, kicking off on December 17, 2021. From an entirely new game mode in Armageddon to Elf Team Six who roam around both the battle royale and multiplayer, there’s plenty to enjoy in this event. But not all of the new additions are brimming with Christmas spirit. A monster known as Krampus is wandering free across Vanguard’s multiplayer and the Caldera map. Here’s how you can find him. Contents Once the Festive Fervor event is underway, you’ll see Krampus terrorizing players across Warzone and Vanguard. He spawns on Caldera to hunt in three-minute bursts before switching targets, while he attacks players during Vanguard multiplayer matches. In Warzone, especially, luring out and killing Krampus is worth trying, as he gives out special rewards – although taking him down might not be as easy as it sounds. Unfortunately, Krampus isn’t tied to a specific location in either mode, so pinning him down to a specific place is extremely difficult. Don’t worry, though, there are ways to make him focus on you. How to find Krampus in Warzone Krampus is more likely to hunt “naughty” players, and finding coal is the best way to prove that you’re on the list. Coal can only be collected from Holiday Crates, which spawn when players stand in specific places on the map. If you want to draw Krampus to your location in Warzone, the first thing you’ll need to look for is Fir Trees scattered in between the lush palm trees that usually make up Caldera. These are marked on your map and usually found close to POIs. Standing near a Fir Tree for a short amount of time causes Supply Boxes to spawn nearby, including Holiday Crates. These crates can contain legendary loot and rewards, but they can also give out coal. If you’re lucky, or unlucky enough, to be given coal out of a Holiday Cratem then you’ll quickly climb to the top of Crampus’ hit list. It’s worth noting that finding coal doesn’t guarantee Krampus will hunt you, but it does drastically improve your odds. How to find Krampus in Vanguard Luckily, drawing out Krampus in Vanguard is far more straightforward. Here, he looks to punish the players who aren’t playing the objective. The player in each match with the lowest objective score will be Krampus’ next target. This could mean you have the least time in the Hardpoint or you haven’t collected enough tags in Kill Confirmed. Hunted players will be warned that Krampus is out for them, and have a short window to bump up their score or take the monster out. If you fail to do either of these, Krampus will eliminate you with a powerful Finishing Move. There you have it, that was everything you need to know about to find Krampus in the Warzone & Vanguard Festive Fervor event. • Where to find helicopters, mystery box and loot areas on Blackout – Map and Info – Dexerto

Where to find helicopters, mystery box and loot areas on Blackout – Map and Info Two ingenious Reddit users have teamed up to create an interactive Blackout map that will help you find almost everything you need in the battle royale game mode. Created by MiniMax, with map locations provided by Reddit user ‘Sergii17’, this interactive map provides players with an easy-to-read tool that includes spawn locations for different items. The map currently indicates the 10 places where helicopters are likely to spawn, with creator Joel Basada stating that they hope to include other vehicles like ATVs and trucks on the map soon. Unnamed areas with more than three buildings are also shown on the map, giving players new landing options without having to head to one of the higher traffic named locations like Nuketown Island or Construction Site. Spawn locations for the Mystery Box are highlighted, and the designers have added a handy icon that informs players of locations that have an underground area, making sure you’ll never be surprised by an enemy appearing out of the ground again. This interactive map is ideal for players who are looking for a specific spawn location, as the items that are shown on the design can be toggled on or off, meaning that users can decide what they want to see and what they aren’t interested in. MiniMax plan to add more items to the legend of the map in the near future, citing a lack of credible sources due to the game’s recent release as the reason some things have been left off. They state that, once the information has been made available, they will add new items and spawn locations to the map as soon as possible. • Where to find helicopters in CoD Warzone – all locations – Dexerto

Where to find helicopters in CoD Warzone – all locations Infinity WardThe Helicopters in Call of Duty: Warzone are popular vehicles for players to commandeer, and this guide will show you every location they spawn around the map. There are only five types of vehicles in Warzone. Of those five, four are ground vehicles, leaving only one with the ability to take control of the skies. Unlike other battle royales, mobility is severely lacking throughout Warzone, making the Helicopter one of the most versatile vehicles to use for rotations or sweeping attacks to take opponents by surprise. It’s because of this that there are usually mad dashes to take control of a Helicopter at the start of each game. While popular locations can be found near Verdansk Port and the Prison complex, there are some lesser-known spawns where you can have an easier time getting a chopper. Across Warzone, players have eight locations where they can find the aircraft. There is a pretty even spread of spawn spots throughout the map, though most are located near the center. Two spots are near the north at Gora Dam and Arklov Peak. Meanwhile, there are four near the middle at Airport Maintenance, TV Station, Downtown Tavorsk District, and near Hospital. The final two are southeast of Warzone near the Verdansk Port and the Zordaya Prison Complex. One of the least visited locations near a Helicopter would arguably be the spawn near the Dam since every other spot gets a fair amount of attention from the 150 players that load into a map. But if you’re hoping for players to get sidetracked by the amount of loot there is in nearby points of interest, then the military base at Arklov Peak and Downtown Tavorsk District near the Verdansk Stadium could net you a quick chopper. There’s also the possibility of making a bee line to a Helicopter just to take it to a quieter part of the map and safely loot. Regardless, getting near the vehicle at the start of a game is going to get a lot of attention from the rest of the Warzone combatants so it’s best to know where the other Helicopters are, just in case.

  • Where to find Armored Trucks in Warzone & how to easily destroy them – Dexerto

Where to find Armored Trucks in Warzone & how to easily destroy them ActivisionArmored Trucks have arrived in Warzone, making Caldera’s war-torn battlefield even riskier to explore. Here’s how you can find and destroy them. Warzone has seen the likes of armored vehicles before in the wastelands of Verdansk, with players able to collect a gigantic cash infusion in the blink of an eye. Whether it’s battle royale or Plunder, only the brave can reap these epic rewards, as taking them down isn’t an easy feat. If you’re struggling to get a piece of the action yourself, worry not, as we’ve got you covered when it comes to defeating Armored Trucks. Contents Where to find Armored Trucks in Warzone At the start of each game, Armored Trucks will spawn into Caldera. It’s likely that they will appear around Resort, Beachhead, and Mines – but they have been known to appear in a few other areas around Caldera too. Be sure to check your map immediately upon spawning into the game, as they’ll be marked with constantly moving red vehicle emblems. The Armored Trucks will travel around in a small rotation, largely sticking to their pre-determined spawn point. Speed isn’t exactly their strong suit either, so don’t worry about having to catch up with them. How to destroy Armored Trucks in Warzone Destroy Armored Trucks in Warzone may seem daunting at first, especially if you’re under fire from an enemy squad. The convoys will attack if you engage or get close, so be ready. Annihilating them can be done swiftly with the following methods from YouTuber Geeky Pastimes: Use the M1 Bazooka or Panzerschreck (Takes up to 5 rockets to destroy an Armored Truck) – Hop into a Bomber plane – Firing weapons with Armor Piercing rounds (better for Plunder if you’re under attack constantly) – AA Trucks (smaller damage, but easy to pursue the Armored Trucks) – Once you’ve destroyed an Armoured Truck you’ll be rewarded with heaps of cash, killstreaks, and potentially the Nebula 5 bomb. As the YouTuber points out, you should have enough cash to last you the entire game, so it is absolutely worth the time to deal with them.

  • Where to find all intel in MW2 Campaign Remastered – Dexerto

Where to find all intel in MW2 Campaign Remastered Activision via PS4TrophiesThe launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s Remastered Campaign has renewed the hunt for the intel spread throughout the game’s legendary story mode. There are over 40 intel laptops scattered over MW2’s three acts. While some are easy to stumble on, others require a bit of exploration from the linear path that the game’s story takes players through. Whether you’re experiencing the MW2 story for the first time or trying to add the ‘Leave No Stone Unturned’ achievement/trophy to your collection, here are all the intel locations for a thorough playthrough. It’s no surprise that the remaster didn’t change the locations of the hidden items from 2009, so that should make the hunt easier for vets. YouTube channel ‘PS4Trophies’ gave a clear rundown of where all the intel laptops in MW2 can be found. The remaster did significantly change some lighting, objects, and (obviously) textures for some of the intel spots which could throw off people used to how the old one looks. Fortunately, that’s a good thing when trying to find some of the sneakier intel laptops like the ones on the missions ‘Cliffhanger’ and ‘Just Like Old Times’. MW2 Intel laptops locations If you’re still having trouble locating the laptops, here’s a rundown of where every intel item can be found across the MW2 Remastered Campaign. 1) The first can be found just as the campaign starts, but instead of going through the training area’s gates, go the opposite way to the tent where the laptop can be seen front and center. 2) On the mission Team Player, the second can be found on the desk near posing as a monitor for the mouse and keyboard. 3) The third is down the road in the same mission, and is sitting on top of a crate. 4) In the snowy landscape of the Cliffhanger mission, located up the ladder of a nearby outpost. 5) Can be found on the other side of a hangar window on Cliffhanger as you head toward MacTavish. Break the glass to access the laptop. 6) This one’s a bit tricky since you have to run over it during Cliffhanger’s snowmobile pursuit. It’s hidden inside to the right of the brush that makes the path diverge at 1800m from the objective. 7) On Takedown while clearing the favelas, the intel should be about 120m away on top of a table located inside one of the nearby houses. 8) While making your way through the next stage of Takedown, take the ladder about 80m from the marker. There’s a white door that leads to a room with a laptop. 9) Fighting your way through Takedown, the building with a football graffiti on the wall of the entrance. It’s located opposite of the wall with the Brazilian flag painted on it. 10) About 45m from the objective after going upstairs in Takedown’s favelas, the building to the right has stairs going down. The next laptop is next to the mattress on the floor. 11) On the gas station shootout on the Wolverines mission, the intel is on top of the clerk’s counter inside. 12) Across the street in Burger Town, the intel is located inside of the dumpster around the corner of the building. 13) The next one is in the Taco Togo building, break the window to find it on top of the table. 14) Fighting through the plazas, the CRB Financial bank has one next to a desk in front of the teller’s window. 15) On the Hornet’s Nest mission, make your way into the nearby garage with a blue buggy. Go to the next room and it’s on the table. 16) After the battle in the clearing on Hornet’s Nest, there’s a palette with two green barrels next to it. The laptop is on top of the barrels. 17) After clearing Pelayo’s ice cream shop on Hornet’s Nest, go to the second floor of the building attached. Go upstairs again after the green-walled section to find the laptop on the wooden table. 18) Leaving the marketplace, there’s a football field. Behind the goal on the far side, there’s a red building with a laptop on the other side of the window. 19) On the Mission Exodus, go into the office at the Garden Villas apartments where a laptop is seen on the desk. 20) Near the checkpoint around the Arcadia shelter, there’s an office with a desk filled with monitors and a couple of TVs. The laptop is on the edge of the desk. 21) Crossing the bridge, there’s a house with potted plants and an open front door. Go to the second floor and the intel is on the couch. 22) On The Only Easy Day mission, go upstairs after the first set of hostages. The racks in the garage have a laptop amid the tools, nestled in between a red toolbox and two yellow lights. 23) The laptop is on another storage rack after clearing the deck two. 24) Making your way to the third level, there’s a room where there are stairs going up and down. An intel can be found behind the yellow stairs going up. 25) On Gulag before going into the prison, there’s some stairs going up to a room. The laptop is on the far wall on top of the cabinets to the left. 26) Entering the screen-filled control center, head around the back of the room where a lone laptop sits above a desk. 27) Fighting through the Gulag, there’s a room numbered 237. The intel is on the right side of the room. 28) After reuniting with Price, turn around to find the laptop in front of a brightly lit TV on the desk. 29) In an elevator on the ‘Of Their Own Accord’ mission, an intel laptop is sitting to the right, next to a fallen soldier. 30) After locating the SAM site in the Capitol building, there’s a room with a hostile and intel laptop inside. 31) Sneaking through the Contingency mission, Price will call out the “three man patrol” but there’s a laptop in between on top of a crate. 32) After Contingency’s predator missile section, there’s a structure marked ‘Building 33’ immediately to the left. There’s a laptop in the next room following the vending machines. 33) There’s a nearby helicopter pad after intel case #32, the laptop is on the left side. 34) After busting through the door on Whiskey Hotel, there’s an enemy you shoot through a hole in the wall. Hug the left wall to find a laptop on a couch around a corner. 35) While following Sgt. Foley to the upstairs room, when he pops his green flairs there’s an intel laptop to the right corner of the room near the entrance. 36) On the Loose Ends mission, there’s a small corridor where you have to breach two doors. The one on the left leads to a small armory. There’s a laptop on the opposite side of the weapon wall. 37) There’s a shanty cabin near the lake on Loose Ends where an intel laptop is sitting next to a regular laptop. 38) In the main cabin house, go upstairs and there’s a laptop near the window looking over the Jeeps. 39) On the mission ‘The Enemy of My Enemy,’ there’s a laptop in the cockpit of a broken plane about 408m away from the objective. 40) Just as Price slides in with his SUV, the car stops in front of the cockpit-half of a jet. There’s a laptop above the small stairs. 41) In ‘Just Like Old Times,’ after killing the guy smoking, keep going forward to find a laptop hugging the right side of the tunnel. 42) Just before leaving the cave, there’s an area to the left with a table. On top of the table is a TV and intel laptop. 43) During the ambush, head to the dark corner of the cave. On the other side of the ramp-up, there’s a laptop in front of a chain-link fence. 44) In the room laced with explosives, there’s a laptop on the table in the clutter of cola cans on the opposite side of the computer you use to override the door locks. 45) The last piece of intel on Endgame is given to you before getting onto the boat with Price. Finding all of the intel cases in Modern Warfare 2 can be tricky even for CoD veterans who may have forgotten where they all are. However, this guide should give you more clarity on where to find those hard-to-reach laptops while you make your way through MW2’s Remastered Campaign.

  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare confirmed but where is MW2 Remastered? – Dexerto

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare confirmed but where is MW2 Remastered? Call of Duty finally revealed Modern Warfare as the 2019 CoD game but long-term fans of the series were harboring hopes of a Modern Warfare 2 Remastered reveal – so, where is it? Where is MW2 Remastered? Modern Warfare 2 in some form remains a possibility in 2019 as Infinity Ward and Call of Duty, have only revealed a two minute long trailer focusing on Modern Warfare’s campaign. YouTubers who attended a preview event at the Infinity Ward offices describe the game as edgy and controversial. One YouTuber, Drift0r, claims “Modern Warfare makes MW2’s No Russian look like a Pixar Film.” Modern Warfare will be released on October 25 but some fans are waiting for MW2 remastered. Cross-platform play, free DLC and squad-based co-op gameplay are some of the only details known. The multiplayer portion of Modern Warfare has yet to be revealed, which means a Modern Warfare 2 Remastered reveal could still take place. However, this is looking less likely than it once was. No MW2 leaks Out of nowhere came leaks that the 2019 Call of Duty wouldn’t be called Modern Warfare 4, but, simply Modern Warfare. These leaks also included information about the campaign – both, of course, proving to be correct. Unfortunately for Modern Warfare 2 fans, these leaks didn’t include information about a MW2 remaster. In fact, some of them specifically stated that the remastered version of MW2 and MW3 wouldn’t be included. Commercially this does make sense as it wouldn’t be good for business if Infinity Ward were to split the player base between the new multiplayer and a popular existing one. However, if a MW2 re-release looks unlikely for the start of Modern Warfare, it could still happen at some point next year. Infinity Ward could be keeping the game under wraps as part of a big surprise update for 2020. It could work similarly to Black Ops 4 Blackout’s, Alcatraz, where it came as a shock to Call of Duty players. MW2 listed on classification board Despite there being doubts about Modern Warfare 2 re-releasing soon, eagle-eyed MW2 fans have noticed that a listing for the game has appeared on the Australian classification board. Read More: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – Release date, campaign, multiplayer, cross-platform, rumors – Listed as “Primary: Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 2 (ModernWarfare241560817) (41560817)” the game is interestingly classified as “general”. This is in comparison to the original Modern Warfare 2 release which received a “mature 15+” classification with the consumer advice of “strong violence”. An interesting listing appeared on the Australian Classification website… This could indicate that the new listing is for multiplayer only, as it would have been the original, slightly controversial campaign that would have induced the 15+ rating. Additionally, the separate listing to Modern Warfare hints that the game could even come as a separate release, probably sometime in 2020. Most wanted remaster of a game ever? MW2 Remastered has been rumored and wanted ever since the PS4 and Xbox One were released. Hilarious lobbies with endearing poor quality microphones, over-powered killstreaks and the sheer simplicity of it, are all reasons why 10 years on, the demand for MW2 is as big as ever. The second installment of the Modern Warfare series was made backwards compatible for the Xbox One in August of last year.

  • Where do you find Zombies on the Blackout map? – Dexerto

Where do you find Zombies on the Blackout map? It’s safe to say that zombies aren’t the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the battle royale genre of games. However, with Call of Duty’s Blackout mode, hordes of the undead are roaming areas of the map, impatiently waiting to get their hands on their next victim. Zombies in Blackout will drop loot when killed, making them a quick way to gather items and perks without having to scour building after building. Some of the undead will even drop legendary items like the Ray Gun or the Monkey Bomb grenade, but players who want to get their hands on these powerful items will have to risk getting mauled by groups of the demons. Thankfully, zombies are confined to certain locations of the map, and anywhere zombies are spawning will have a massive blue beam of light shooting into the sky to warn players, meaning anyone who would rather avoid the creatures can do so fairly easily. However, if you feel the reward outweighs the risk and you want to challenge the creatures for their treasures, here is a list of places where Zombies will spawn.

  • Where are the top 5 best places to land in Blackout? – Dexerto

Where are the top 5 best places to land in Blackout? Call of Duty’s battle royale mode Blackout takes place on the franchise’s biggest ever map. With a map that size, there are a lot of choices to make about where you should land when entering a game. With fan-favourite Call of Duty maps built into the landscape, alongside new and exciting points of interest, it can be tricky deciding where to drop in order to give yourself the best chance of victory. While your favourite landing spot will come down to personal preference, some places can give you an advantage over your enemies thanks to the bountiful loot you can find there, the vehicles you can acquire, or even due to its position on the map. Treyarch have released a heat map that shows the locations on that map that saw the most action during the Blackout beta than ran in September. While some areas are definitely busier than others, the results suggest that action can happen anywhere on the map, and isn’t confined to certain areas of the franchise’s largest map. Below are some of the best places you can land in Call of Duty: Blackout. 5. Nuketown Island The always popular Call of Duty map Nuketown has been reimagined as an island in Blackout, and is stocked with mountains of loot to set you up for a victory. Visitors to Nuketown Island will also notice a massive helicopter sitting at the west end of the island, allowing players to make a quick escape once they’ve geared up. Players do need to be wary of the play-zone, as depending on the location of the next circle, they may need to use the ATV which spawns on the walkway in front of the lighthouse to make sure they make it. 2. Asylum Asylum sits ominously on top of a mountain range on the east side of the map. A two storey building with a hedge maze to the rear, there is some good loot available to pick up at this location. However, the real treasure is dropped by the hordes of zombies who pace around Asylum waiting for their next victim. Zombies can drop legendary weapons such as the powerful Ray Gun or the Monkey Bomb grenade, and there’s also a chance that the Mystery Box from Call of Duty’s Zombies game mode will spawn on the second floor. Gamers can then take a trip to the small clump of white houses directly south of Construction Site, which is where the insanely powerful Koshka sniper rifle regularly spawns.

  • When will Warzone’s Blueprint Blitz event return? – Dexerto

When will Warzone’s Blueprint Blitz event return? ActivisionThe highly-anticipated Blueprint Blitz event finally arrived after Warzone’s Season Four Reloaded update, however, it didn’t last long. Raven took the event offline following issues, but it should return. Blueprint Blitz was teased a while ago when the Season Four Reloaded patch first dropped. This event was coming to bring players the opportunity to earn past season’s blueprints. To earn these blueprints, players must complete two normal contracts before a Contraband Contract will then spawn. Players must safely deliver that to the drop zone, defend it until it has been extracted, and then you will unlock the blueprint. However, lots of players were reporting that after completing these steps they still were not receiving any blueprints. Understandably, they weren’t happy. Is Blueprint Blitz coming back in Season Four? Raven Software announced that they will be temporarily disabling the event as many reports have come in that it is broken. They also stated that they are working on a solution for whatever is causing these issues to happen. However, it is still not back live yet. Reports from players were saying that they completed all the necessary steps in the event to unlock blueprints. However, after they completed the match they were in and loaded back in the lobby, they were missing the blueprint that should’ve been unlocked. ❗️We are aware of Players not receiving Blueprints when participating in the Blueprint Blitz event. We have temporarily disabled the event so that we can address this issue. — Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) August 6, 2021 Numerous Reddit posts have been surfacing in the community, this one posted by ‘Flygon_Yeet_9987’ is one of many that shows the blueprint not being permanently unlocked after completing the contracts and the match. Other players were responding to the threads, confirming that they were having similar issues, and speculated that the entire event was completely broken. There has been no confirmation on when the event will return but players can stay hopeful that this issue is resolved soon given that the devs haven’t said that they’re canceling the event. If anything changes, we’ll be sure to update this article.

  • When will vehicles return to Warzone? – Dexerto

When will vehicles return to Warzone? ActivisionVehicles are still absent from the streets of Verdansk and Call of Duty Warzone after being temporarily disabled. So, here’s what we know about when they could return. For the most part, Call of Duty Warzone follows the same formula as other battle royale titles – drop in, loot up, and try to be the last player or team remaining. Though, there are few different wrinkles with vehicles and contracts. Since the battle royale launched back in March, vehicles have played a vital role in rotating to the next safe zone, driving from loot box to loot box, or just running over enemies in order to pick up eliminations. However, after a game-breaking exploit reared its head, the vehicle were “temporarily” disabled on September 5 – meaning you have to traverse Verdansk on foot. So, here’s what we know about their potential return. When are vehicles coming back in Warzone? As noted, the devs stated that the vehicles were being disabled “temporarily” starting on September 5. As of writing on September 8, vehicles have officially returned to Verdansk. The vehicles were re-added to the game during this week’s playlist update, which also saw the addition of a new operator, 50v50 Rumble, and more. Despite being a part of the weekly update, the developers confirmed the news over it’s official Twitter account, something fans didn’t expect. Along with today’s playlist update, we also added vehicles back into Warzone. Thank you for your patience. https://t.co/HS8HptGiPb — Infinity Ward (@InfinityWard) September 8, 2020 The return of vehicles is certainly a welcome one, as they have been a part of the game since the very beginning. Still, some people liked the removal of them, so those people will certainly be disappointed to see them re-added. Given the fact that they have been re-added to the game, this will more than likely be the last update, but just in case, keep it locked to Dexerto for any futher developments.

  • When will the DMR be nerfed in Warzone (again)? – Dexerto

When will the DMR be nerfed in Warzone (again)? TreyarchWith Black Ops Cold War weapons now available in Call of Duty: Warzone, a new meta has emerged, and it’s all about the DMR 14. Despite the tactical rifle having already been nerfed once, the majority of the player-base has been vocal about it needing to be toned down yet again. Call of Duty fans have been able to enjoy Black Ops Cold War weapons in Warzone since the two games merged on December 16. A semi-automatic tactical rifle, the DMR has been dominant since Season 1 began, and fans are keen to see a nerf and a meta shakeup. We’ve seen various metas emerge in the past – weapons like the Grau and the Bruen had their time in the spotlight. Each time, Infinity Ward have later nerfed them, to keep the game balanced, as well as fresh. That has not been the case with the DMR yet, as it has remained right at the top of Warzone’s weapon pool for over a month now, despite having already been nerfed once. Warzone players want the DMR nerfed again After nearly a month of public outcry, Raven Software finally implemented a nerf to the DMR, along with three other weapons, reducing the tactical rifle’s headshot damage and increasing its recoil. However, despite this, many claim that there isn’t really any major difference, as the DMR continues to be an insurmountable force on Verdansk and Rebirth Island. Consequently, players have been eager to see the gun nerfed again. Raven have already tweeted out that they’re continuing to monitor any aspect of Warzone that users are having complaints about, so the DMR should be high up on their list. We expect another adjustment to be rolled out sooner rather than later, perhaps when the game’s next patch gets released on Thursday, January 14. What else needs to be nerfed in Warzone? Diamatti, Type 63, more The Type 63 is another semi-auto tactical rifle that’s almost just as good as the DMR. It too was nerfed in the Jan. 6 balancing patch but continues to be really powerful. The only reason it’s not been complained about as much is that it’s still in the shadows of the DMR and not many people are familiar with its potency. That and the dual-wield Diamattis (which were also toned down on Jan. 6) both need another round of nerfs, simply because the first tuning update didn’t really change anything in terms of how powerful these weapons are and how often they get used. Perhaps the only gun that was nerfed in the previous patch that maybe doesn’t need to be touched again is the Mac 10, especially since it’s not really as overpowered as the others in this list and also because there are so many other viable SMGs that nerfing this one to the ground won’t accomplish much. While it’s not certain that any of these weapons will be the target of more tuning in the coming weeks, if they are, expect them to be tweaked sooner rather than later.

  • When will Shoot House 24/7 playlist be added back in Modern Warfare? – Dexerto

When will Shoot House 24/7 playlist be added back in Modern Warfare? A comical ultimatum from a Modern Warfare player led to a confirmation for the return of the Shoot House 24/7 playlist that’s been missing since the Season 1 update. Call of Duty players were excited about the massive content drop that hit the servers on December 3, but it replaced the popular Shoot House mode with Crash 24/7 – a popular map in its own right, but not one that hit the same notes as its predecessor. The switch led to a vocal portion of the community to express their displeasure while asking for the devs to reinstate Shoot House. Since then, the Modern Warfare Reddit community have been creating memes to plead their case and one player went so far as to “threaten” a helpless character in the game. “Bring Shoot House 24/7 Back or the Chicken gets it,” user ‘TBurnn’ said, displaying a scoped crosshair fixed on one of the chickens in the game. The joke was just one of the many that have been filling up the subreddit’s posts, but this one was dire enough to warrant a response from Infinity Ward’s Co-Design Director of Multiplayer Joe Cecot. In his reply, the dev “relented” to the mounting pressure from the sniper and gave some reassurance that Shoot House 24/7 would be making its way back to the fray in an upcoming update. “Okay, okay, just don’t kill the bird. Future update ;)” Cecot said. While there’s no indication on when the popular map’s playlist would be coming back, the news was still something the community was waiting to hear. The response was even enough for the memeing sniper to relent in their aggression against the in-game animal: “The bird will now be protected at all costs.” Season 1 delivered Infinity Ward’s promise for “the biggest free content drop in Call of Duty history” with the release of the franchise’s first Battle Pass. Now players will have a ton of new weapons, Operator Skins, Blueprints and more to grind for as the first season of content gets underway. While fans of Shoot House will go through slight withdrawals until the 24/7 playlist returns, it’ll be a relief to know that its absence will be temporary.

  • When will Scump return to Twitch? – Dexerto

When will Scump return to Twitch? YouTube: OpTic GamingCall of Duty section on Twitch whenever he hits the live button, but he hasn’t streamed in quite some time. Here’s what we know about his return. When it comes to competitive Call of Duty, there is no bigger name than Scump. The former World Champion has over two million followers on Twitter, and a further 2,400,000 subscribers on YouTube – while also setting the world alight on Twitch. After a challenging World War II season, the OpTic Gaming captain made his return to streaming at the beginning of Black Ops 4 – racking up over 100,000 viewers at one point as the Greenwall nailed down an early-season online tournament win. Yet, partway through March, he left his Twitch channel dormant, no longer streaming practice or bringing the vibes to his thousands of viewers. When is Scump coming back to Twitch? However, with the Modern Warfare beta in full-flow and new rosters being decided during Rostermania, fans have been clamoring for his return – sending him constant questions on Twitter. On September 20, the OpTic captain finally responded and gave an answer in a response to a fan. “I’ll be back to streaming on release,” he said, confirming that fans won’t see him playing the new title properly until it’s official release date of October 25. Why did Scump stop streaming on Twitch? Like the vast majority of Call of Duty teams, Scump and OpTic streamed their practices for thousands of fans – but made their rebroadcasts subscriber-only. This meant that any team trying to get a look at their strategies had to pay for the previlgies. However, that all died down towards the end of the season, with OpTic chopping and changing roles in the darkness – leaving fans waiting on Tweets and Pro League matches for updates and to see them playing again. Now, of course, all this doesn’t mean that Scump is immediately going to hop onto Twitch once the game goes live at midnight, but it at least gives us an indication on when we can see him streaming again. Whether or not he’ll take up the mantle of dominating public games like he used to do so easily, or if he’ll be practicing with his new franchising team, remains to be seen. All we know, though, is that his return isn’t too far away, and fans will be able to spam his King Scump emote once he goes on an insane killstreak soon enough.

  • When will the Modern Warfare seasonal Battle Pass be released? – Dexerto

When will the Modern Warfare seasonal Battle Pass be released? Call of Duty title in recent history to exclude a prestige system, instead favoring a Battle Pass that will soon be implemented with the first post-launch season. Without the ability to prestige in Modern Warfare, dedicated fans have been questioning when the recently announced Battle Pass would be introduced. Set to include both a free and premium stream of content exclusive to the seasonal system, we now have a rough idea as to when the first iteration of the Battle Pass will be made available. In Activision Blizzard’s quarterly earnings call, it was revealed that the Modern Warfare Battle Pass would be launching alongside the very first season in December. “We will support other key franchises with a stream of content, services, events, and features,” the company explained. “This includes our new in-game system for Modern Warfare, which begins in December, slightly later than originally planned.” Restructuring the traditional roll-out of post-launch content in Call of Duty, Infinity Ward has assured that all additional maps, modes, and weapons will be free of charge. In fact, the only form of content that will supposedly be behind a pay-wall is set to be purely cosmetic. Upon the release of the initial Battle Pass in December, there will be two-tiers of unlockable cosmetics that can be earned simply through playing the game and earning CoD Points. In a series first, rather than opening loot boxes and having a random chance at items, players will be able to comb through the Battle Pass and get a glimpse at all featured content. Each season will supposedly be themed and feature its own unique slate of vanity items. From weapon camos to animated player cards and even fresh designs for the numerous in-game operators, there are plenty of areas that seasonal content could target. Recent leaks have unveiled what could be the first influx of post-launch items. Modern Warfare is even the first game in Call of Duty history to feature customizable sprays and emotes that can be utilized in the middle of combat. While no specific date is locked in place just yet, the Call of Duty community can rest assured that the wait for the Battle Pass won’t last much longer. Additionally, Infinity Ward announced that two new maps and the popular Hardpoint game mode would all be coming in a free update on November 8.

  • When will Capture The Flag be added to Modern Warfare? – Dexerto

When will Capture The Flag be added to Modern Warfare? Call of Duty fans are eagerly anticipating the addition of new game modes in Modern Warfare, including Capture the Flag after it appeared following the November 22 patch. Since releasing back on October 25, Modern Warfare has had a solid launch for Infinity Ward despite complaints from fans and professional players over a multitude of different things. Many of the issues have formed around Multiplayer, with plenty of players believing that the game is quite different from anything else they’ve played in the franchise. Yet, there have been changes to rectify that, with more seemingly on the way to add some classic match types. Now, thanks to the November 22 update – which has added Gun Game as a game mode and a few new Spec Ops missions – it appears as if a few others will coming in the not too distant future. In the extensive patch notes for the update, players noted that there had been a change to what stats that the Combat Record was tracking. “Added CTF and Hardpoint into Combat Records,” the notes read. Of course, CTF refers to Capture the Flag, an iconic CoD game type that is currently lacking from the Modern Warfare rotation but has been bandied about as a possible addition down the line. In fact, the mode was listed in the leaderboards back at the beginning of November, with players hoping that they’d see it come back. It was also a part of the pre-release multiplayer leaks that seemed to confirm all of the game modes that would be available at one point or another. Since that gap between its appearance in the leaderboards and now the Combat Record, the game mode still hasn’t been added, and an exact date for its addition remains to be seen. There’s no telling just when the game type might become available in public lobbies or private matches, that all comes down to Infinity Ward at the end of the day. However, plenty of players will be hoping that it doesn’t take too much longer as they want to dive back into one of their favorite modes.

  • When can you play CoD: Modern Warfare? Launch times on PC, PS4, Xbox One – Dexerto

When can you play CoD: Modern Warfare? Launch times on PC, PS4, Xbox One Call of Duty: Modern Warfare officially launches on October 25, but when exactly will you be able to start playing it? Infinity Ward’s latest addition to the Call of Duty catalog has many fans incredibly excited, with a return to perhaps the most popular sub-series in the franchise, Modern Warfare, not only in name but also in spirit, with the game set to bring back a classic feel in terms of mechanics and pacing. Whether you’re most excited to reunite with Captain Price in the new campaign, or looking to jump straight into multiplayer matches, many fans will undoubtedly be hoping to try out the game from the moment it goes live. Exactly when Modern Warfare will be available to play depends on a number of factors, however, from how you’ve purchased the game, to what platform you’re on and where you are in the world. Here’s everything you need to know to figure out exactly when the game will be released for you. PC Global Launch For PC players, things are very simple, as the game will go live for everyone at the exact same time: 6 PM PDT on Thursday October 24 – technically the day before the official release on October 25, for some time zones at least. Those on PC can pre-order the game through the Battle.net client, and immediately begin installing it in preparation for the launch. Those who pre-ordered earlier should also return to the client to install the game if they haven’t already, as the installation has only been live since October 22. Below is the release time for the PC Global Launch in several time zones. PS4 and Xbox One Launch Things are a little bit more complicated for console players. For a start, if you manage to get your hands on a physical copy, you can actually start playing immediately. For those who have bought the game digitally, however, there will be different release times depending on where you are. Most of the launches are taking place at midnight local time, but for players in North America the game will be available at the same time as the Global PC Launch, from 6 PM PDT. Like the PC version, digital purchases on console can be pre-loaded, so be sure to set the installation going ahead of time so you’re not waiting once the game actually releases. For PS4 players, the launch will also feature the Survival mode, a part of Spec Ops which is exclusive to the platform for a whole year. Players on PC and Xbox One will have to wait until October 2020 – when the next Call of Duty instalment will presumably be launching – if the want to experience the mode, something many fans have unsurprisingly expressed frustration over.

  • When is Zombies returning to Call of Duty Mobile? – Dexerto

When is Zombies returning to Call of Duty Mobile? ActivisionCall of Duty mobile features plenty of game modes from previous games in the series, but one of the most popular is Zombies. Find out why Zombies was removed from CoD Mobile and when the mode is returning. The Zombies game mode has always been a popular aspect of the Call of Duty series since it first appeared in World at War. Since then, players have been fighting off the flesh-eating hordes across various maps and time periods. While the early release of CoD Mobile’s Zombies mode only featured linear missions, it was later revamped into a round-based mode. The first map to be released was Shi no Numa, a popular Zombies map that featured in World at War and the Black Ops series. Despite its overall popularity, TiMi Studios removed the Zombies game mode from the game last year. However, the developers have promised Zombies will eventually return. Why was Zombies removed from Call of Duty Mobile? CoD Mobile developers announced that Zombies would be removed from the game on March 25th, 2020. Since then, the mode has been missing from the game. However, TiMi Studios did outline the reasons during their Community Update post, stating: “We wanted to see the reception, see the feedback, and see how we can potentially shape the mode for the future,” says the developer. “However, the mode just didn’t reach the level of quality that we desire. The second map, Nacht Der Untoten, is also not releasing in the global version.” This has obviously annoyed many fans, with a lot of players taking to Reddit and Twitter to voice their frustrations regarding the mode’s removal. When is Zombies returning to Call of Duty Mobile? As of writing, there has yet be an official release date scheduled for Zombies’ return to CoD Mobile. However, we do know that it could potentially make comeback in a future update. “We may bring the mode back, with Nacht Der Untoten, once we can make sure it is high enough quality,” says TiMi Studios. “For now we’ll focus on development for Multiplayer, Battle Royale, and Ranked Mode.” We’ll update this post as soon as we have further news regarding the return of Zombies in Call of Duty Mobile. In the meantime, be sure to check out our Call of Duty hub for all the latest news and updates.

  • When is Zombies mode coming to Call of Duty: Mobile? – Dexerto

When is Zombies mode coming to Call of Duty: Mobile? Treyarch/TencentCall of Duty: Mobile fans have had plenty of time with multiplayer, but additional modes are on the way too – including the much-anticipated CoD Mobile Zombies. Call of Duty Mobile has taken its new platforms by storm, with over 100 million people downloading it from their respective app stores and jump into a few games of the classic first-person shooter backdrop. As it stands, the free-to-play titles gives players the chance to try their hand at Free-For-All, Frontline, Hardpoint, Domination, and the classic Team Deathmatch game modes – with more on the way. However, discussion has shifted towards possible battle royale and zombies add-ons that could arrive in the near future. Call of Duty: Mobile Zombies release date Activision have confirmed that Zombies will be releasing on CoD Mobile on November 22 at 9PM PT / 12PM ET / 5AM GMT. https://twitter.com/PlayCODMobile/status/1197555181413470208 The release date is just in time for the holiday season, as Activision will be hoping even more players will jump into their newest Call of Duty venture, off the standard console and PC market. What maps will be in CoD: Mobile Zombies? Unlike the traditional mode where fans in teams of up to four players would fight back wave after wave of undead beasts, the CoD Mobile version might be a little different. Instead, it will be more of a linear, mission-based system instead of the style that fans know and love. Despite that, though, one fan-favorite setting – Green Run – could make a return, with its Diner, Farm, and Town locations making up a part of the story. Green Run looks set to make a return in CoD Mobile: Zombies Will C0D: Mobile Zombies have perks? Yet, while it may differ from the usual Zombies mode, one long-standing feature will make a return in the form of Perks. It’s unknown if players will be able to buy them from machines as normal, but according to YouTuber ParkerTheSlayer, there will be eleven in total. The Zombies content creator noted that Quick Revive, Fleet Foot, Hasten, Bloodthirsty, Beefcake, Gecko, and Deadshot will be a part of the list but there’s no word on the old faithful, Juggernog. So, there you have it, everything we know about Call of Duty: Mobile and its eventual Zombies mode. We’ll continue to update this article as information becomes available.

As we prepare for the arrival of Vanguard Season 1 and the Warzone Pacific map on December 8, developers have treated fans to a Secrets of the Pacific event. This has given players an opportunity to find out hints of Caldera and what it entails before actually getting a good look at what it has to offer. However, before we get to the new map, we must say goodbye to the current one through The End of Verdansk. Here’s everything we know so far. Warzone The End of Verdansk start date When the new Warzone map was originally revealed, fans also found out that the destruction of Verdansk will start on December 3. However, with the delay of Season 1 and Caldera, that could be pushed back to December 7. At the time of writing, there hasn’t been a confirmation from Activision on this being moved back but we will update you when we find out. Warzone The End of Verdansk expectations Through Call of Duty’s blog, we know that the destruction will not be instant as they said, “The destruction begins.” But this could certainly be the final time we see Verdansk in Warzone. Activision said, “Expect a spectacular and fitting end to your time in Verdansk as we say farewell to the Kastovian city… forever?” The last time something like this happened, a nuke was dropped onto Verdansk as we transitioned to Verdansk ‘84. If that were to occur again then it is likely to kill everything in sight, leading us to Caldera for the foreseeable future. Like most in-game events, there could be challenges that will grant rewards such as calling cards, emblems, and weapon blueprints. We will update you when more information is available. For now, start preparing for the end as it’s almost time to wave Verdansk goodbye and say hello to the Warzone Pacific island of Caldera.

  • Warzone Operation Monarch update: Godzilla vs Kong start time, LTM & new killstreak – Dexerto

Warzone Operation Monarch update: Godzilla vs Kong start time, LTM & new killstreak ActivisionRaven Software has revealed two enormous beasts are coming to Warzone’s Caldera map in Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded, with Operation Monarch. But, when does the Godzilla vs Kong event start? First, there were rumblings in the community. Teasers were dripped out with earth-shattering sounds. Then, there were leaked images. On April 21, Activision’s biggest crossover for Call of Duty’s battle royale title to date was confirmed, and so too was the fate of the game’s popular island, as multiple map changes have been confirmed for Season 3. King Kong and the mighty Godzilla are coming to Warzone in what’s set up to be a monumental clash between the two. So, if you want to get involved, let’s run through when it starts, the teasers, trailers, and what to expect. Contents Warzone Kong vs Godzilla event start date – Warzone Kong vs Godzilla trailer – Warzone Operation Monarch update patch notes – When does Warzone Operation Monarch start? Godzilla vs Kong start date Activision has confirmed that the live event between Godzilla vs Kong will start on May 11, 2022, in Warzone. This will be the first time anything like this has happened in the battle royale title, coming as part of the Operation Monarch update. Warzone Operation Monarch trailer The first trailer for Operation Monarch surfaced on April 21, alongside the Warzone Season 3 Reloaded roadmap. Warzone Operation Monarch update: full patch notes The following has been posted by Activision on the official Call of Duty website. The Monster of All Battles is here. From May 11 to May 25, Operators can stand toe-to-toe with Kong and Godzilla in the Operation Monarch limited-time mode. This mode shares a name with the Operation Monarch event, which offers rewards for participating in matches, collecting Monarch Intel, completing challenges, and even buying limited-time Monsterverse Bundles inspired by . Operation Monarch is a true celebration of the Monsterverse and within ®. Those who already got their hands on Classified Arms in and know how massive the stakes are. Monarch is counting on us to help them quell these monstrous forces — this is the intel you need to save Caldera: Despite fighting in battles across multiple continents, Operators never faced two colossal threats like Kong and Godzilla before. And despite popular belief, these two creatures are our allies against a greater threat. “Neither Kong nor Godzilla are villains,” said Sam Rappaport, Legendary’s Director of Interactive Media, who hopes these two monsters can help shore up his scary K/D ratio. “The Monsterverse has ‘Protector’ and ‘Destroyer’ Titans, each with a biological imperative to battle for dominance. While we do see these ancient rivals go toe-to-toe in Godzilla vs. Kong, both are considered ‘Protector’ Titans. However, when provoked by other Titans or humans, there is no stopping their rage.” In case either of these Titans are enraged in a Frenzy, you will need to know the following: Godzilla Monarch Designation: GODZILLA Scientific Classification: TITANUS GOJIRA Height: 393 Feet Known Attacks: Heat Ray Breath, Tail Swipe, Dorsal Slice Tail Length: 582 Feet Top Tail Swipe Speed: 89 MPH Underwater Cruising Speed: 40-50 Knots Volume of Roar: Up To 174 dB Blood Volume: 530,000 Gallons Tensile Strength of Bone: 3,000 MPS (Megapascal) Heat Ray Energy Yield: 315 Trillion Joules The King of the Monsters has risen from the darkest depths of the ocean to unleash his devastating breath and thunderous roar on unsuspecting shores. No one — not even the secretive monster defense agency Monarch — knows why Godzilla is so enraged, attacking cities around the world. His latest target is Caldera, patrolling around the island and using his Heat Ray Breath haphazardly. This deadly beam of energy appears as several red circles on your minimap after it lights up Godzilla’s scales with an icy-blue glow. Just like a Precision Airstrike, it is best to avoid his line of fire; although he does not purposely target Operators, those who accidentally end up in his destructive path will have mere seconds before getting blasted. Kong Monarch Designation: KONG Scientific Classification: TITANUS KONG Height: 337 Feet Known Attacks: Quake Slam, Fin Breaker, Aerial Axe Slash Punch Strength: Approx. 4.2 M (Magnitude on Richter Scale) Tensile Strength of Bone: 2,800 MPS (Megapascal) Volume of Roar: Up to 170 dB Top Arm Swing Speed: 62 MPH Top Bipedal Running Speed: 78 MPH Top Quadrupedal Running Speed: 104 MPH Preferred Diet: Foliage, Bamboo, Mire Squid The ruler of Skull Island is now all-powerful, his strength forged in the fire of combat, after decades of defending his territory from nature’s most dangerous creatures. Kong has developed an epic brawler fight style, using quick feet, aerial traversal, and sheer feral strength to confuse and disorient his opponents. Although his main domain is Skull Island, Kong is here on Caldera. Is he here to defend this island from Godzilla? Or did Godzilla sense him arriving in Caldera first as the true aggressor? No matter the explanation as to why he is here alongside Godzilla, Kong will leap and jump around the island. His patterns could be considered predictable, but figuring out where he could land requires further on-the-ground research from Operators. Kong does not mean to completely crush vehicles and Operators underneath his feet. With that said, merely brushing against Kong can put you in a downed state, so keeping a safe distance from him is a major key to survival. Remember: Monarch’s organizational mission is “Discovery and Defense in the Time of Monsters.” Our goal is to fight alongside these monsters and live in harmony with them, and through the Operation Monarch mode, Operators can find a way to use their abilities to aid in their own survival. From the initial drop to the final circle, what can Operators expect in the Operation Monarch limited-time mode? First, they are advised to have a full Quad team; it will be a 60-player match with a Resurgence rule set. A smaller section of Caldera will be marked for the first safe area, and outside of one massive twist, the rules are simple: Be the last team standing. On the ground, players will find Monarch Intel via Supply Boxes, special drops, and fallen enemies. Use this to charge a special meter that unlocks items such as Killstreaks and Loadout Drops, along with a unique and powerful Titan Killstreak reward for filling it up completely. veterans will be familiar with this special meter through the classic Power Grab limited-time mode. While collecting intel and eliminating enemies, Operators will need to watch out for Kong and Godzilla. Dealing damage to them will award additional Monarch Intel, and while they usually don’t get too aggressive, they will be dangerous during a Titan Frenzy. Titan Frenzy At the beginning of an Operation Monarch match, and at another point during it, Kong and Godzilla may become enraged and recklessly attack. This is known as a Titan Frenzy. After receiving a Titan Frenzy alert, an Operator has two options: tactically withdraw (run away) from these dangerous creatures or attempt to suppress them by dealing direct damage. The squad who deals the most damage to either Kong or Godzilla during a Titan Frenzy will automatically receive Monarch’s special S.C.R.E.A.M. Device. Runners-up will still earn Monarch Intel to count toward their special intel meter, whose final reward is a S.C.R.E.A.M. Device. S.C.R.E.A.M. Device The Titan S.C.R.E.A.M. Device (Titan Sonic Communication Radar and Echolocation Array Module) is a prototypical device developed by Monarch that lets Operatives unleash the awesome power of Godzilla and Kong in battle. In Operation Monarch, the S.C.R.E.A.M. Device is a is a Killstreak that grants its user one of two powers from the Titans: a Heat Ray breath from Godzilla or a ground pound from Kong. Once the attack type is chosen, the Operator can direct it toward anywhere on Caldera. To avoid a barrage of attacks, and to protect the sensory nerves of our Protector Titans, multiple S.C.R.E.A.M. Devices cannot be used in rapid succession. Like any other Killstreak, timing and location are two major factors to its effectiveness. Besides the glory of surviving a battle royale against two Titans, the limited-time mode ties directly to the Operation Monarch limited-time event. This event contains eight challenges — complete all eight to receive a special “Ancient Rivalry” Marksman Rifle Blueprint: Play Operation Monarch for 6 Hours: Reward — Epic “Ancestral Skull” Charm – Use a Kong or Godzilla Killstreak Once: Reward — Rare “Ancient Remains” Charm – Use a Kong or Godzilla Killstreak Three Times: Reward — Rare “Monarch Eyes Only” Charm – Deal 500,000 damage to Titans: Reward — Rare “Concrete Jungle” Sticker – Deal 135,000 total damage to Kong in Titan Frenzy Events: Reward — Legendary “Team Godzilla” Emblem – Deal 135,000 total damage to Godzilla in Titan Frenzy Events: Reward — Legendary “Team Kong” Emblem – Collect 3,000 Monarch Intel: Reward — Epic “Skyline Crasher” Calling Card – Place in the Top 15 twelve times in the Operation Monarch Limited-Time Mode: Reward — Epic “One Will Fall” Spray – Additional Rewards for Participation Monarch is also giving out rewards just by playing the Operation Monarch mode and braving the Titan Frenzy in-game event. While these challenges are separate to the eight needed to unlock the “Ancient Rivalry,” there still reward charms, Calling Cards, and Player Titles. Rumor has it that Monarch has a few secret rewards for the brave (or just plain reckless), so experiment with both monsters and see what you can find… Operators can use any weapons against the most powerful Titans in the world — yes, even a melee tool, although we don’t advise that. However, we recommend turning their own power against them. Here are the three Monsterverse Bundles inspired by available during Operation Monarch: Tracer Pack: Godzilla Reactive Mastercraft Limited Time Bundle The Tracer Pack: Godzilla Reactive Mastercraft Limited Time Bundle contains nine items, including a Legendary “Godzilla Ghillie” Operator Skin for Shigenori and its other marquee item: the Heroic “Breath of Godzilla” Mastercraft Weapon Blueprint. Outside of shooting cool-blue tracer rounds, the “Breath of Godzilla” can be phenomenal against Kong. Its extended magazines and low recoil help deliver consistent damage over time without too much aim adjustment. Against a target that jumps and stomps around, being able to keep a weapon steady with little effort can be crucial to success during a Titan Frenzy. The other weapon in this Bundle, the Legendary “Awakened Alpha” LMG, is an overall menace against squads and monsters. Use it within a few dozen meters of your target to get reliable damage output. Tracer Pack: Kong Limited Time Bundle The Tracer Pack: Kong Limited Time Bundle, which includes a Legendary “Kong” Operator Skin for Wade and other items, is where you will find three Legendary Weapon Blueprints: the “Temple of Kong” Sniper Rifle and “Skull Island Shaker” SMG, both of which shoot jungle green tracers, and “Kong’s Scepter.” While awesome, “Kong’s Scepter” has limited range and is more recommended to be used against Operators. Whereas the “Temple of Kong” and “Skull Island Shaker” are loaded with extended magazines and built to deal consistent damage to either Titan at a reasonable range. Specifically, the “Temple of Kong” can be a great weapon against Godzilla. Given that he is off the shoreline, this weapon’s extended range helps an Operator output great damage at a distance. And as a Secondary Weapon via the Overkill Perk, the “Skull Island Shaker” helps keep nearby enemy Operators at bay during Titan Frenzy attacks. Tracer Pack: Mechagodzilla Limited Time Bundle As much as we love Kong and Godzilla, we know the power of the Destroyer Titans and Apex Cybernetics combined can be enough to deal significant damage to the Protector Titans. Whether you long for King Ghidorah’s return or just want to use the latest and greatest Apex technology for humanity’s sake, the Tracer Pack: Mechagodzilla Limited Time Bundle has two ranged weapons built for taking on Titans. Both weapons feature rapid-fire attachments, with the “Cybernetic Destroyer” Assault Rifle able to pierce the thick defenses of Kong and Godzilla at midrange. The “Neural Uplink” SMG favors a bit more close-range action, for those unafraid to step up to beasts that stand over 300 feet tall or full squads that are distracted trying to “befriend” monsters. And remember: getting multiple Operation Monarch Bundles before June 13 gives you additional rewards. Purchase any two Bundles to receive the exclusive “Godzilla vs. Kong” Weapon Sticker and the “Superspecies” Player Title. Grab all three, and you’ll receive a Legendary “Apex Phase Rifle” SMG, one that could make a colossal statement in close-quarters engagements. These bonus rewards will be granted as soon as you reboot your game after purchase. Operation Monarch was made possible by the combined effort of the staff, including developer studios Raven Software, Sledgehammer Games, and Toys for Bob, along with Legendary Entertainment. This colossal effort was done out of appreciation for both fans of and . For fans who want to go even deeper, the team behind at Legendary Entertainment partnered with our developments studios to create exclusive calling cards. Unlock them by visiting Monsterverse.com and entering your e-mail, preferably the one that your Activision Account is tied to. After doing so, look for an e-mail from the Monsterverse team to receive a special code. Then, visit callofduty.com/godzillavskong and log in with your Activision Account, enter your code when prompted, and claim your rewards! The items will be in your inventory the next time you start up the game. Contact support@activision.com if you experience any issues redeeming your code. 1. Map Around the Monsters. The Tac Map shows current monster positions, while the minimap shows their area of attack. Check these often, especially during Titan Frenzy events. 2. Scavenge for Intel. The Titan Frenzy event isn’t the only way to earn a S.C.R.E.A.M. Device. Watch out for Intel supply drops, and be sure to open Supply Boxes and scavenge enemy bodies for additional intel, which can add up to Killstreaks, Loadout Drops, and the S.C.R.E.A.M. device. 3. Remember: Resurgence Rules. Being eliminated during Operation Monarch does not necessarily mean death. If your squadmates are down due to enemies or monsters, stay alive until they redeploy. 4. High Capacity, High Damage. Kong and Godzilla may never die, but you better believe that they will take tons of damage from a weapon with a large magazine and damage per second. Consider planning your Loadout for max-damage capacity if your squad is aiming to win a Titan Frenzy… Or look around for some conveniently placed heavy weaponry. 5. Strike, then S.C.R.E.A.M. Participating in Titan Frenzy events is one of the quickest ways to get a S.C.R.E.A.M. Device. Keep targeting either monster to get rewards, and consider saving them until the final circles for maximum damage. Rise on every front.

Season 4 end date, Vanguard & more ActivisionWarzone Season 4 is coming to an end and players of CoD’s battle royale are turning their attention to Season 5 and what is to come. Here, we run through when we expect the fifth season of the Vanguard life-cycle to begin and what should come when it does. Warzone Season 4 Reloaded dropped on July 28, bringing with it the typical meta shake up and plenty of new content for fans to dig into. Among other things like the introduction of the Titanium Trials LTM, multiple ARs were nerfed so as to end the dominance of the NZ-41, which established itself as a comfortable favorite in the season’s early weeks. Despite the relative freshness of Season 4 Reloaded, fans are already wondering what is to come with Season 5 and when to expect it. Here’s everything we know. When is Warzone Season 5? Season 4 end date While seasonal dates are not confirmed early, we now have a roadmap for Season 5. It has confirmed that Season 5 will begin on August 24, exactly as was expected. The length of the season – roughly two months – has become standard and means that no Season 6 will occur before Modern Warfare II’s life-cycle begins. A delay is possible, with past Warzone seasons pushed back slightly to allow devs to refine what is coming and maximize bug fixes. As of now, no delay is expected to Season 5. Warzone Season 5: Operation Last Call new content, leaks & rumors As previously mentioned, we now have a roadmap pertaining to Season 5, so we know exactly what is to come. Operation Last Call will see a major POI update to Peak, with the volcanic site set to erupt. There’ll also be a new Supply Box UAV killstreak and a Doomsday Station. The roadmap has confirmed two new multiplayer maps in Vanguard, Beheaded and Fortress dropping with Season 5. Similarly, operators from a host of CoD games will descend on the title, including Seraph from Black Ops 3 and Raul Menendez of Black Ops 2. New weapons will include the Valdis Revolver and EX1, but all new weapons should ultimately make their way to Warzone. For all the latest ahead of Season Five, stay with us on Dexerto.

  • When is Warzone Season 2? Season 1 end date, new map rumors, weapons – Dexerto

When is Warzone Season 2? Season 1 end date, new map rumors, weapons ActivisionCall of Duty players have a huge Warzone Season 2 update to look forward to in the near future, and they will be expecting more than the offerings from Season 1 with the Black Ops Cold War integration. Here’s everything we know so far about the next Warzone season. Contents The first season featuring BOCW weapons, a new Rebirth Island map, and many more changes to shake up the battle royale’s meta. However, those who regularly dive into the game will know that this is just the beginning – with many more tweaks expected. While information is scarce on the next major update, what we do have is a provisional release date and a general idea of what’s to be expected. When does Warzone Season 1 end? Warzone Season 1 is expected to run right the way through January, and most of February – ending on February 24. Read More: Best Warzone shotgun loadouts – The first seasonal update of Black Ops Cold War integration was given a delay, but based on the currently unaffected timeline we have, the Battle Pass should end on this date. Warzone Season 2 release date Given Season 1’s expected to end date, Warzone Season 2 will start on or around February 24, 2021. There has been no official announcement of a release date, though should that be confirmed, we’ll update this article. New Warzone map rumors Rumors are circulating between leakers and other members of the community that a new Ural Mountains map may be in the works for Season 2. It’s been claimed that the new map, which is still yet to be confirmed, will take major influence from Black Ops Cold War’s Fireteam: Dirty Bomb maps. With the mode being a 40-player experience, it has been suggested that it may be fleshed out with other POIs and additions to form a fully fledged battle royale map for Warzone. That would follow the recent trend in the game as well, with Rebirth Island providing a tighter experience than Verdansk. The current maps in Treyarch’s new mode are Alpine and Ruka, which are set in the Russian Ural Mountains. Sanatorium is an upcoming Fireteam map as well, which is coming out in January. Ruka has the code name ‘wz_forest’ in the game’s files, while Alpine’s is ‘wz_ski_slopes’. Maybe a Warzone map will be formed off the back of this, or maybe not. We’ll have to wait and see. Battle Pass The Call of Duty Warzone Battle Pass for Season 1 added a whole batch of new content, including a new Operator – Stitch – as well as two base weapons, the Mac-10 and Groza. Weapons & Blueprints It’s almost certain that the next major patch will bring not only new guns to the loot pool, but also blueprints as well. These blueprints allow players to select powerful weapons without needing to grind the XP to unlock them. Once you have unlocked them, then you can start customizing them as well. In Season 1, the blueprint added was the “Natural Order” Assault Rifle Blueprint. Read More: Best Mac-10 Warzone loadout – No Season 2 blueprint names or weapon details have been confirmed, at the time of writing. Bunkers & Easter Eggs New bunkers to open up have been included in a number of previous Warzone updates, and the next season will likely follow that trend too – along with easter eggs. Once we have more information for each of these sections, we will update this article. Until then, keep crossing off days on your calendar until that elusive Season 2 release date.

Warzone Season 5 launched on August 24, bringing with it a new Gulag, changes to the Peak POI on Caldera, and several weapon buffs and nerfs to shake up the meta. It was also confirmed to be the final season of Warzone Pacific, before Warzone 2 launches on November 16, bringing a complete change of gameplay as Infinity Ward introduces some entirely new features and styles of play to the Call of Duty battle royale. Raven Software will be wanting to end Warzone Pacific’s final season on a high, though, and Season 5 Reloaded should really bring everything together for one of Caldera’s finest seasons. Here are all the details. When is Warzone Pacific Season 5 Reloaded? Season 5 Reloaded is available for download on PlayStation and Xbox platforms on September 28 at 9 a.m. (PT.) The developers are delaying the update on PC as they investigate a crashing issue. We will provide an update once we have a confirmed release for PC players. • When is Warzone Pacific Season 4? Season 3 end date, Caldera changes, more – Dexerto

When is Warzone Pacific Season 4? Season 3 end date, Caldera changes, more ActivisionWarzone Season 3 is rapidly coming to a close, and fans of the CoD battle royale are wondering what to expect with Season 4. We’ve got you covered as we run through when that will be and what changes to expect to Caldera, Rebirth Island and Vanguard. Warzone’s third season of the Vanguard era dropped on April 27, with Season 3 Reloaded following at the end of May. All in all, the two major updates changed much about Warzone, bringing us new POIs and ending the sniper rifles’ long-held dominance. We also got an epic clash of the titans when Godzilla met Kong, paving the way for Season 4 of Warzone Pacific. But when will it come and what will it bring? When is Warzone Season 4? Season 3 end date Activision do not give firm dates for when new seasons will begin. However, using the Season 3 battle pass gives us a date for when that will end and Season 4 will begin. Currently, the Season 3 Battle Pass is set to expire on 22 June 2022. We therefore expect Season 4 to begin on or just after that date. It is worth saying that, because of the prevalence of bugs and glitches in Warzone, some recent seasons have been delayed to allow the devs more time to include fixes in the updates. As of June 11, there is no indication that Season 4 will be pushed back by Raven or Activision. Warzone & Vanguard Season 4: new content As we have approached Season 4 more details have eked out and we now have some idea of what to expect in the upcoming patch. Firstly, Raven have promised Season 4 will bring “one of the biggest shifts Caldera has had since launch”, so we can expect new POIs and some areas to undergo transformations. Vanguard will also receive new content – with at least one multiplayer map and a few new guns standard drops at the beginning of new seasons. While information on the latter is scarce, leaks point to CoD: WWII’s USS Texas map as a new environment for Vanguard multiplayer. That’s all the information we have at the moment, but we will update this page as and when updates are available.

  • When is Warzone Pacific Season 3? Season 2 end date – Dexerto

When is Warzone Pacific Season 3? Season 2 end date ActivisionWarzone Pacific Season 2 is wrapping up and fans are now casting their minds forward to Season 3. Here, we run through everything we know so far, including when to expect it, what Caldera changes will come, and what it will mean for CoD: Vanguard. After much excitement – mostly in the form of manifesting bug fixes – Warzone Pacific Season 2 finally dropped on February 14, bringing a host of changes to Caldera and, thankfully, a number of patches to improve Warzone’s playability and enjoyability. Similarly, Vanguard Season 2 got underway, bringing new modes and maps to the 2021 installment. Both seasons began at the same time, as is expected to happen with Season 3 when it gets underway. But when will that be? Contents When does Warzone and Vanguard Season 3 start? Known as the Classified Arms update, Pacific Season 3 is now set to release on Wednesday, April 27 – unless it’s hit by any unforeseen delays, which have happened in the past. That is also when we expect Season 3 for Vanguard to drop, with new seasons in annual titles coinciding with Warzone content. Normal seasons run for roughly a couple of months, but Season 2 was delayed to allow Raven and Sledgehammer time to iron out more mistakes. A similar delay for Season 3 is certainly a possibility. What can we expect from Warzone and Vanguard Season 3? On April 13, Call of Duty released the official trailer for Season 3, which revealed ‘Classified Arms.‘ The teaser showed that a Nebula bomb explosion has “shaken something awake, something far more powerful and fearsome than we could ever hope to comprehend.” That has now been confirmed as a Godzilla and King Kong crossover, which will drop in game as ‘Operation Monarch’ on May 11, a couple of weeks into Season 3. https://twitter.com/CallofDuty/status/1514287673543995394 On top of that, we are expecting multiple new weapons to drop in the battle royale. At the moment we know about four: the M1916 Marksman Rifle, the Nikita AVT Assault Rifle, a Sledgehammer Melee Weapon and the H4 Blixen SMG. Furthermore, major changes look set to come to Caldera, with a new Dig Site POI and shake-ups to the established Peak area. Finally, we’re expecting audio improvements and some hefty sniper nerfs given the Swiss K31 and Kar98k’s continued dominance. For a full look at all the content coming, check out everything we know so far about Warzone Season 3. In terms of Vanguard, we’re expecting Trophy Systems, a new Mayhem multiplayer map and a host of bug fixes. It looks set to be a major overhaul of both titles, so stay tuned to Dexerto for all the latest.

  • When is Warzone Pacific Season 2? Release time, season 1 end date, CoD: Vanguard, more – Dexerto

When is Warzone Pacific Season 2? Release time, season 1 end date, CoD: Vanguard, more ActivisionWarzone Pacific and CoD: Vanguard’s first season is well underway, and fans are casting their minds forwards to what could come when Season 2 begins. Here, we run through when that will be, the new content it will bring and more. The long-anticipated transition to Warzone Pacific finally came on December 8, transporting all battle royale players to a new sun-soaked island called Caldera. The BR has been fraught with issues since it dropped, but many fans remain optimistic ahead of Season 2. Fresh content, whether weapons, vehicles, balancing changes, map adjustments, skins or cosmetics are always expected with the launch of new seasons. As such, players want to know about Warzone Pacific and CoD: Vanguard Season 2. When does Warzone Pacific and CoD: Vanguard Season One end? There is rarely official confirmation of a new season’s start date until much nearer the time, but the preceding season’s battle pass often indicates when players can expect it to end. Season One’s battle pass is due to expire on 1 February, 2022. However, Activision have officially confirmed that Season 2 has now been delayed by approximately two weeks. As such, Warzone Pacific and Vanguard Season 2 will drop on February 14, barring any further delays, and will release at 5pm GMT/9am PT/12pm ET. The news was confirmed in an Activision Status Report, released on January 19, explaining that it would give the developers more time to fix the game’s issues. It comes just days after Activision officially apologized for the state of Vanguard and Warzone. They said: “We will use this additional development time to deliver updates, including optimizations to gameplay, game balancing (including weapon and equipment balancing), to fix game stability and bugs, and to ensure an overall level of polish.” What can we expect in Warzone Pacific and CoD: Vanguard Season 2? The prevalence of bugs and glitches in Warzone means we can expect plenty of fixes to accompany the Season 2 update. These will likely carry over to Vanguard as well, which has experienced more than its fair share of problems. Leaks have now emerged, pointing towards a new shotgun, KG M/40 LMG and the Chauchat. There is also a new female operator and a new Alps map, thought be for the Ground War mode. Relating specifically to Warzone, leaks also suggest new Armored Convoy vehicles, Planes and Redeploy Balloons will come to Caldera. There is also suggestions that gas weapons will be on their way into Warzone. In terms of map changes, we might see minor adjustments to problem areas and a few POIs, but large-scale changes seem unlikely given the newness of Caldera. We will, of course, update this piece closer to the time, when more details are available.

  • When is Warzone & Modern Warfare 2 Season 6? – Dexerto

When is Warzone & Modern Warfare 2 Season 6? ActivisionSeason 6 is set to be the last season of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone as we know it currently, so it could prove to be a big one for the game before Modern Warfare 3 launches. Here’s everything we know. With Season 5, Call of Duty introduced a number of new multiplayer maps to Modern Warfare 2, including a remake of Call of Duty 4’s Strike, while Warzone saw a number of long-awaited changes to movement speed that players have clamored for ever since the switch from Caldera. There were also a number of new operators added to the game, including the likes of Snoop Dogg, 21 Savage, and Nicki Minaj, so as to celebrate 50 years of hip hop. But with only a few weeks left before the launch of Modern Warfare 3 and focus shifting on to the new game, what can we expect from Modern Warfare 2 Season 6 and when is it? MW2 & Warzone Season 6 start date At the time of writing, it looks as though Season 6 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone will kick off on Wednesday, September 27, and the updated servers usually go live at around 9AM PT (12PM ET/5PM BST). This is based on the Battle Pass timer displayed in-game, and has not formally been announced by Activision, though the timer is usually accurate unless there are delays. This follows the usual pattern for Call of Duty updates, with around 2 months between major updates and a Wednesday launch date. Of course, it is possible that there could be delays, if they’re not ready to launch all of the new content that comes with the game, but it’s likely at this point in the game’s life cycle that the update should go smoothly with no major game-changing content to add in.

  • When is Warzone FOV slider coming to console? Latest details for PlayStation & Xbox users – Dexerto

When is Warzone FOV slider coming to console? Latest details for PlayStation & Xbox users ActivisionA Field of View (FOV) slider could finally be making its way to Warzone in the near future as developers at Raven Software have confirmed that the feature is in the works. When it comes to First Person Shooters, your FOV is everything. With a wider perspective, you’re at a huge advantage being able to see more of the world around you compared to those with a limited scope. This means that a player that would otherwise not be visible in normal circumstances is now visible. This gives players more of a fighting chance in the field of combat. Call of Duty: Vanguard is currently playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S with a fully customizable FOV. Warzone is still lacking in this regard, and players are locked to a certain FOV with no option to tweak it. With Xbox and PlayStation players constantly demanding the option, Raven Software’s Associate Creative Director Amos Hodge provided an update a few months ago. When will Warzone on console get an FOV slider? Creative Director for Warzone Ted Timmins responded to a Tweet on December 1, 2021 asking for FOV. He said: “Definitely aware of this, especially that I speak as a console player. Thing is, if I tweet literally anything then it will become a headline which wouldn’t be fair on me or the team. I just hope that these patch notes make it clear; you are being heard, and we are listening.” Definitely aware of this, especially that I speak as a console player. Thing is, if I tweet literally anything then it will become a headline which wouldn’t be fair on me or the team. I just hope that these patch notes make it clear; you are being heard, and we are listening. — Ted Timmins (@JustTeddii) December 1, 2021 It’s clear that Raven Software are still completely aware of the public’s want for an FOV slider. However, this answer feels very safe and seems like it’s not meant to get anyone’s hopes up for an FOV slider anytime soon. Warzone Pacific is set to change many elements of the game – including Dead Silence and Heartbeat Sensors. Most players will be hoping that an FOV slider will be one of the next major changes. What exactly is an FOV slider? In short, an FOV slider allows you to alter how much of the environment you see in an FPS title. With a smaller FOV, your camera will be very zoomed in. With a larger FOV, it’ll appear as though you’re zooming out with each gradual increase. The higher your FOV slider is set, the more you’re able to see. With Warzone specifically, the default FOV on console is set to 80. However, console players in Vanguard are able to boost all the way up to 120, adding an extra 50% to your screen. Why doesn’t Warzone have FOV slider on console? With a wider FOV, players are constantly processing more information. When there’s more action on your screen, your hardware has more to deal with. The biggest concern in adding an FOV slider to Warzone boils down to performance. Infinity Ward previously outlined how such a feature on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One could create a number of problems. If an FOV slider was introduced, it could impact your overall Frames Per Second (FPS) in a big way. Yet, the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S have been out for a while now, and are more than capable of processing a higher FOV. Players are still waiting for the next-gen version of Warzone to come out. The current version is still a PS4 and Xbox One build just slightly optimized for the latest gen consoles. We’ll be sure to keep you posted here with any future updates on the status of a console FOV slider in Warzone.

  • When is Warzone & Black Ops Cold War Season 4? Season 3 end date, leaks, more – Dexerto

When is Warzone & Black Ops Cold War Season 4? Season 3 end date, leaks, more ActivisionThe popularity of Call of Duty: Warzone means fans can’t stop thinking about what is to come, and are now turning their attention to Season 4. Here’s everything we know about when it’ll launch, and what to expect when it does. Warzone and Black Ops Cold War saw their third season launch simultaneously on April 22. The former saw a major map overhaul as Verdansk wound back the clock to 1984, while the latter saw weapon buffs, slide cancel adjustments and more. That’s not all from Season 3 though, with the official roadmap indicating players of both games have a lot more to look forward to. Warzone Season 4 Start Date However, the start of a new season means players will instantly cast their minds forward to what is to come. As Raven and Treyarch proved again with their updates, the biggest shake-ups tend to come with the inception of new seasons. Starting on April 22, Season 3 looks set to follow a similar pattern and timescale to previous seasons. The battle pass is currently set to end on or around June 15th, so we can expect Season 4 to drop almost immediately after that. This makes June 16 or 17 seem a likely start date, depending on your location in the world. What’s coming in Season 4? It’s very early to say what we can expect for Season 4, with its release still well over a month off. However, it’s fair to assume that we won’t see major map changes, given the bulk of Season 3’s Warzone update was re-skinning Verdansk. Read More: Scump calls on CoD for better new maps – We can expect new weapons for Black Ops Cold War (which means new Warzone weapons), as well as all the bug fixes and weapon tuning we have come to anticipate with new seasons. As always, this season could be delayed or altered depending on Treyarch, Raven and Activision’s wishes. We’ll update you with more information as it becomes available.

  • When is Warzone 2 & Modern Warfare 2 Season Three? Season Two end date – Dexerto

When is Warzone 2 & Modern Warfare 2 Season Three? Season Two end date ActivisionSeason Two of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 may have only just started – but there’s already a lot of excitement for Season 3 and what is to come. Here, we run through when that will be and what to expect from the next season of CoD content. Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2’s second season of post-launch content finally dropped on February 15, after weeks of build-up, leaks and player anticipation. It brought a huge number of changes to both titles, with Ranked Play and Hardcore dropping in the annual instalment, while the battle royale received a new Ashika Island Resurgence map and a host of weapon adjustments. However, some players are already casting their minds to the next seasonal update, knowing that it promises to be another mammoth update. But when will it come and what can we expect when it does? Does it have a release date? As is standard, Activision and their development teams don’t confirm a new season’s start date until much closer to its release. However, we can use the ongoing season’s Battle Pass to figure out a date. The Season Two Battle Pass went live on February 15 with a 55 day timer – set to expire on 11 April 2023. We therefore expect Season Three to begin on Tuesday, 11 April 2023 or Wednesday, 12 April 2023. It’s worth noting that a release date won’t be set in stone until closer to the season’s launch. We saw Season Two delayed by a fortnight to give the development teams more time to perfect the patch and maximize the changes it brought. MW2 & Warzone 2 Season Three content So, what can we expect when it does drop? Usually, we’re starved of until leaks and rumors pile up in the weeks preceding. However, Activision have let players know ahead of time, perhaps to placate complaints over recycled and rehashed content. They confirmed that Modern Warfare 2’s third season will finally bring Gunfight – the 2v2 mode that’s been much loved since it dropped in MW2019. For Warzone 2, they also confirmed that Plunder will be dropping and, after huge demand from the player base, a Treyarch-developed Ranked mode. We’ve also had a major leak purportedly reveal full content plans for upcoming seasons. It claimed that the upcoming content drop will see two new Operators, three new weapons, three core maps, one battle map, four Gunfights maps, one Spec Ops mission, a raid, and a battle pass added. In short, there’s a lot for players to look forward to, whatever they’re playing.

  • When is Season 2 of Warzone 2 & Modern Warfare 2? Season 1 end date – Dexerto

When is Season 2 of Warzone 2 & Modern Warfare 2? Season 1 end date ActivisionSeason Two of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 is rapidly approaching, promising a huge amount of content for both titles. Here’s exactly when to expect it and what to expect when it does release. Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0’s global launch coincided with Modern Warfare 2’s Season One, meaning both titles started their first season of post-launch content simultaneously. That’s ultimately what we expected and, given how the past few CoD titles aligned with the first Warzone, how we expect the Modern Warfare 2 life-cycle to progress. We’ve now had Season One Reloaded drop, bringing Shipment and a raft of other changes to the CoD BR and annual installment. That means the next major update fans can expect is the new season itself. As such, we’re looking at when it will drop and what content will accompany it. When does Season Two start? Season Two of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 was originally set to go live on February 1 but was delayed by a fortnight. As a result, it will be dropping on Wednesday February 15. Specifically, we expect it to go live at 9am PT / 12pm EST / 5pm GMT on that date. We don’t have a confirmed length for Season Two, but typical seasons are around two months in length. Season One was almost three months long, but that is factoring in the aforementioned delay and the holidays. MW2 & Warzone 2 Season Two content We now have an official roadmap for the upcoming season, so we know exactly what to expect. The highlights include Ashika Island – a brand new Resurgence environment for Warzone 2, as well as the return of Valderas Museum in MW2. It will be joined by Modern Warfare 3’s Dome and two battle maps. There’s a host of other changes confirmed for Warzone 2. Gulags will revert to 1v1s and ‘vomit’ looting will return, meaning loot will drop into the open when players are eliminated. We also anticipate more cash and cheaper prices, with players complaining throughout Season 1 that money is too scarce and rewards too expensive. The devs have pledged to listen to community feedback and many of their confirmed changes have proved popular to this point. For early patch notes – and full patch notes when they’re available – check out our dedicated Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 update pages.

  • When is Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season Two Reloaded? – Dexerto

When is Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season Two Reloaded? ActivisionWarzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season Two will feature a Reloaded update to bring a host of new mid-season content. But when will it be and what can we expect when it comes? Call of Duty seasons, ever since Warzone and Modern Warfare 2019 ran in tandem, have had mid-season updates known as ‘Reloaded’. These patches bring content that didn’t make the seasonal updates, as well as bug fixes. Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season Two promises the exact same, with a Reloaded update confirmed when the new season dropped on February 15. But when will it be, and what will it bring when it comes? Is there a release date for Warzone 2 & MW2 Season Two Reloaded? The launch dates of seasonal and mid-season updates don’t tend to be confirmed by Activision or the development teams until just before their release. However, we can use the ongoing season’s Battle Pass to figure out when it will end. Based on that, we expect Season Two to last just under eight weeks and end around April 11. Reloaded updates typically come halfway through seasons, so we expect Season Two Reloaded to release four weeks after Season Two itself. That gives us an anticipated launch date of Wednesday, 15 March 2023. Though, this isn’t confirmed. Naturally, that could change depending on the progress of Season Two itself. We could see a season extension or delay to Season Three, which could also impact the Reloaded update. Warzone 2 & MW2 Season Two Reloaded content With the release of the Season Two Roadmap, we know a lot of the content that will come with S2R. The Data Heist Event, Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle and a new Raid Episode all stand out as Season Two Reloaded content to get excited for. The devs have also confirmed that there will be a new multiplayer map for Modern Warfare 2, which has been “moved up” from a future update. “The Infinity Ward MP team has decided to move the map up,” Activision said, “as it’s already play testing well and tracking ahead of schedule. Stay tuned for more details on this core 6v6 map as we get closer.” It follows complaints from the player base that MW2 was being neglected in favor of Warzone 2. We’re certain there’s even more to come from S2R, so stay tuned for all the latest ahead of the update’s launch.

Most notably, Shipment will drop as the second fan favorite map promised by Infinity Ward. The Chimera AR, said to be based on the Honey Badger from CoD: Ghosts will launch. There will also be a new Atomgrad Raid for special ops players, with IW revealing a trailer and mode details. Specific Warzone content is less clear, but new operators and skins seem an incredibly safe bet. We know that campaign icon Gaz will be coming in three different forms. A few map tweaks may also be in the offing but, given the newness of Al Mazrah, we don’t expect major changes to WZ 2.0’s environment. Be sure to check out the patch notes for an exhaustive look at everything that will come.

  • Is Verdansk coming back to Warzone? Players want old map back for Season 5 – Dexerto

Is Verdansk coming back to Warzone? Players want old map back for Season 5 ActivisionWhile Caldera, Rebirth Island, and Fortune’s Keep remain popular maps in Warzone, a lot of players are wondering when Verdansk is coming back, and the demands for it to return are starting to ramp up. On December 8, 2021, Vanguard’s integration with Warzone kicked off and Verdansk was replaced with Caldera as the main battle royale map. Since then, many players have called for the original Warzone map to return, with Caldera not quite proving as popular. There have been some hints and clues to suggest that we could be returning to Verdansk in the near future, and although nothing has been confirmed so far, players are starting to get their hopes up that it could happen. Why was Verdansk removed from Warzone? Although the original Verdansk was transformed into Verdansk ’84 on April 22, 2021, Caldera officially replaced the iconic map on December 8, 2021. Verdansk was removed due to the arrival of Call of Duty: Vanguard and immediately caused a divide among players, with some enjoying Caldera while others wanted Verdansk to return almost immediately. These demands have heated up over time and, despite the new small map Fortune’s Keep arriving to a lot of support from the community, it’s not quite the same in the eyes of many. Due to this, in August 2022, there have been a number of petitions and viral posts calling for one last run in Verdansk before Warzone 2 arrives later this year. Might as well bring Verdansk back for Season 5 of Warzone 🤷♂️ @RavenSoftware pic.twitter.com/Of3b1VHCyL — ModernWarzone (@ModernWarzone) July 31, 2022 Is Verdansk coming back to Warzone? Unfortunately, there has been no official announcement from Raven Software about the return of Verdansk to Warzone on PC and console. Despite this, during a LegionFarm livestream on April 17, Alex Summers of Activision did reveal that Verdansk would be returning to “certain platforms.” Although this could mean PC and console, a lot of the community are assuming they are referring to Warzone mobile which may release with Verdansk as the main map. One dev also said that “we all want” map rotation between Verdansk and Caldera but, due to the install size, it would cause “technical problems” that could have a huge impact on the game. In a interview with @TylerTeeP, Warzone dev says “”we all want that”” in regards to map rotations in Warzone (between Caldera or Verdansk), but “”it’s a technical problem”” to make it happen because of “”install size.”” At the 0:45 mark in the video: pic.twitter.com/b5hRbXmrpK — CharlieIntel (@charlieINTEL) March 23, 2022 While players are rabid in their desire to see Verdansk come back to Warzone, Raven Software have refused to commit to any kind of timeframe or promises, so you shouldn’t hold your breath.

  • When is the Grau nerf in Warzone? MW mid-Season 4 update details – Dexerto

When is the Grau nerf in Warzone? MW mid-Season 4 update details Infinity Ward / Swagg – YouTube[jwplayer br5AuoVJ] The highly anticipated Modern Warfare mid-Season 4 update will soon be upon us, set to introduce more new content as well as a major weapon balancing patch for both multiplayer and Warzone battle royale. When it comes to the individual seasons in Modern Warfare, there are two big waves of new content and changes – once at the launch and another halfway through. In the case of S4, that’ll be no different, as developers Infinity Ward will be rolling out a major update sometime soon. When is the Modern Warfare mid-season update? Season 4 kicked off on June 10 after a week’s delay and is set to last until August 4, which means that the likeliest date for this patch is Tuesday, July 7. This makes more sense considering that almost every significant update from Infinity Ward has been released on a Tuesday, so July 7 is one that you’ll want to keep an eye on. Weapon balancing: Grau nerf and more Probably the most anticipated part of this update will be the gun balancing patch that comes with it, as revealed by Joe Cecot, Co-Design Director of Multiplayer at Infinity Ward. Cecot recently tweeted that they have “a batch of weapon tuning in the works for the mid-season update,” which came in response to a fan asking whether or not the powerful Grau 5.56 is ever going to get nerfed. The overpowered nature of the Grau has been well-documented, so this is as good as a confirmation that the assault rifle will be tweaked in the upcoming patch. Furthermore, based on the tweet, it appears that there will be several more guns set to either be buffed or nerfed soon, so it’ll definitely be worth keeping tabs on that. https://twitter.com/JoeCecot/status/1274034314305368064 What else to expect in mid-Season 4 update As mentioned above, in addition to the weapon tuning, there will be plenty of new content introduced via this update as well. According to the official Season 4 roadmap, Infinity Ward will be releasing a multiplayer map called Cheshire Park, the new Rytec AMR sniper rifle (gameplay of which has already been leaked), and Juggernaut Royale – a new mode within Warzone that’ll feature the powerful Juggernaut kill-streak from multiplayer. That won’t be the end of it either; the roadmap image shows “and more” in the bottom right corner over a Warzone background, suggesting that more battle royale content could be coming as well. As always, make sure to follow us on Twitter @DexertoINTEL as we will be providing information about this upcoming major update as more details get revealed.

Is Warzone 2 Ranked coming in Season 3 Reloaded? Activision has yet to confirm an official release date for Warzone 2 Ranked. We know that the game mode is coming at some point between now and June 14. Despite a few tidbits, there has also been no explanation from the developers over how ranked will work in Warzone 2. Treyarch and Raven Software teamed up to develop the game mode. Community members praised Treyarch for its work on MW2 Ranked Play, and WZ2 will use a similar Top 250 system. Warzone Ranked used its own ruleset, restricting certain elements from the standard battle royale experience. We also know that the game mode has only been confirmed for Trios. New weapons coming in Season 3 Reloaded The Call of Duty Japan account accidentally revealed that a classic Modern Warfare weapon will be arriving in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 Reloaded. The Call of Duty Japan account revealed that the unknown weapon is an automatic .50, an alternative name for the Desert Eagle handgun. This would be the first iteration of a Desert Eagle to be fully automatic. We’ll just have to wait and see if it ends up being as deadly as some fear. That’s everything we know about Season 3 Reloaded so far. We will provide an update when the developers unveil more information.

  • When is round-based Vanguard Zombies coming out? Shi No Numa release date & details – Dexerto

When is round-based Vanguard Zombies coming out? Shi No Numa release date & details ActivisionVanguard fans have been clamoring for a true, round-based zombies experience – and they’ve finally gotten their wish. Shi No Numa now has a release date, and we know a little about what to expect when it goes live. Sledgehammer Games previously delivered a taste of the round-based action in an unlockable portion of Der Anfang, but fans quickly decided that they wanted more than what the limited-experience could provide. Now, nearly six months after that update, the full-sized Shi No Numa battleground is on the way with a new name and updated look. Swamp of the Dead round-based zombies release date Swamp of the Dead, the reimagined version of Shi No Numa, arrives on June 22 alongside Vanguard Season 4. This chapter of the game has been long in the making, with the devs first announcing they were working on the infrastructure for a full round-based system back in April. As for what’s new this time around, the details are being kept pretty well under wraps, but given how different Vanguard and Black Ops III are, its safe to assume there have been some significant changes in this port. Journey to the “Swamp of Death” to unearth its secrets on June 22nd.#Vanguard #ShiNoNuma #Zombies pic.twitter.com/sYo807VTib — Treyarch Studios (@Treyarch) June 14, 2022 For the uninitiated, Shi No Numa appeared in the franchise back in World at War and was the first map to take players into the depths of WWII-era Japan. Set in the Rising Sun facility, the classic battleground was of the mode’s biggest successes in it’s original appearance and has since come back in both Black Ops and Black Ops III. This is the only round-based experience announced so far, but rumors are already swirling of another map being in development, so fans would do well to keep their eyes peeled over the coming weeks.

  • When is Rebirth Island returning to Warzone? – Dexerto

When is Rebirth Island returning to Warzone? ActivisionRebirth Island was removed from Warzone on November 16, 2022, when Warzone 2 launched, despite its incredible popularity with the playerbase. Fortunately, it’s returning to the game, so here’s when you can expect it back. Rebirth Island was the first small-scale Resurgence map introduced to the Call of Duty battle royale, and quickly became exceedingly popular, especially when Verdansk was removed and Caldera became the primary BR map in the game. As such, many players got used to the fast-paced, frenetic style of Rebirth Island, and while Vondel, Fortune’s Keep, and Ashika Island have helped scratch the itch for some Resurgence players, many still miss the days of Rebirth Island being on top. Thankfully, these players don’t have much longer to wait. The iconic map is returning to Warzone once again, and here’s when it’s set to arrive. Does Rebirth Island have a Warzone return date? At the time of writing, there is not a specific date for Rebirth Island’s return to Warzone, though we know it will be coming back in early 2024. Just how early in 2024 remains to be seen, though recent datamines may have given us a more specific window. Various lines of code plucked from the game seemingly hint at a Season 3 relaunch for Rebirth Island. Should this intel hold up, that puts the return of Rebirth Island in April when the Season 3 update rolls out. At the time of writing, it is unclear what exactly will happen with Vondel and Ashika Island once Rebirth Island returns. It may be thrown into the rotation with those two, or replace the maps entirely, but as long as players can drop back into Rebirth, it’s unlikely they’ll be too concerned about Vondel and Ashika for the time being.

  • When is Ranked Play coming to Modern Warfare 3? – Dexerto

When is Ranked Play coming to Modern Warfare 3? ActivisionWhile public matches are fun they aren’t enough for CoD’s most serious players. Some people need a more competitive mode like Ranked Play and this is when you can expect it to be added to Modern Warfare 3. Ranked Play has been a part of Call of Duty for several years with it first appearing back in Black Ops 2 under the name League Play. It has since evolved with MW2 seeing it given an overhaul courtesy of Treyarch. However, players were quick to discover that the competitive game mode is nowhere to be seen in MW3. This naturally raised the question of when it is getting added. Here’s everything you need to know about when Ranked Play is being added in Modern Warfare 3 and what new features you can look forward to. When is Ranked Play being released in MW3? Ranked Play will be added to Modern Warfare 3 as part of the Season 1 Reloaded mid-season update. With Season 1’s release date of December 6, we can assume that the mid-season update will arrive sometime in January 2024. Ranked Play’s mid-season arrival was confirmed in the official Season 1 blog post which also revealed that is is once again being primarily developed by Treyarch with Sledgehammer Games assisting. In that same post, Activision promises Ranked Play will be “a feature-packed, stand-alone competitive Multiplayer mode that leverages the Call of Duty League approved rules, restrictions, maps, and modes,” as expected. • When is Ranked Play coming to Black Ops 6? – Dexerto

When is Ranked Play coming to Black Ops 6? ActivisionDuring Call of Duty NEXT, Activision confirmed when Ranked Play is coming to Black Ops 6, and its earlier than any other series entry. Ranked Play scratches the competitive itch for players looking for more than a standard public match. The mode uses the Call of Duty League ruleset, which restricts certain guns, equipment, and kill streaks. Additionally, the mode uses the same 4v4 format, pool of maps, and game modes the pros play on. Players climb the ranks and earn new Skill Divisions by winning matches to earn a spot in the illustrious Top 250 ultimately. At the end of each season, rewards are given out based on which division you finish in. For Modern Warfare 3, the game mode launched as part of the Season 1 Reloaded update on January 17. Black Ops 6 will release the game mode even earlier, so without further ado, here’s when fans can expect the game mode this year. Black Ops 6 Ranked Play release date Activision announced that Ranked Play will come to Black Ops 6 early during Season 1. Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 launched about one month after the game officially launched. If Black Ops 6 follows the same schedule, we expect the first seasonal update to go live at the end of November and for Ranked Play to come soon after that. Treyarch did not confirm if there will be any changes to this upcoming iteration of Ranked Play. There also was no mention of Ranked Play coming to Warzone. Modern Warfare 3 never added Ranked Play to Urzikstan and only kept the game mode on Regurgence maps. Raven Software are planning to launch Ranked Play battle royale before the end of the year but did not commit to an official date. When is Plunder coming back to Warzone? Treyarch/ActivisionWarzone’s Season 5 Reloaded update saw the removal of Plunder to make room for the new 50v50 Clash mode, but when will the money collecting mode make its return? The highly anticipated Season 5 Reloaded update has arrived and it’s introduced a range of fresh content into Warzone. From the new Judge Dredd operator to the 50v50 Clash mode, Raven certainly didn’t hold back with the latest patch. However, despite all of the exciting additions, some players were disappointed that the fan-favorite Plunder mode was removed to make room for Clash. Of course, this begs the question, when is Plunder going to return to Warzone? Luckily, we know the exact date and there isn’t too long to wait before you can continue collecting huge amounts of cash. What happened to Plunder in Warzone? As mentioned above, Warzone’s Plunder mode was removed from the game in the Reloaded patch and was replaced by Clash. Although it’ll be a little while before the money collecting mode returns, it’s not gone for good. Raven regularly changes around the playlists, even occasionally replacing the staple BR modes. While a lot of players used Plunder to level up their weapons, Clash is just as effective for farming kills, so don’t forget to try it out! What date is Plunder returning to Warzone? Thanks to an upcoming playlist schedule from Raven, we know that Plunder will be returning to Warzone on September 30, 2021. That means there isn’t long to wait before you can squad up and get back to collecting as much cash as possible. • When is next Double XP & Double Weapon XP in Black Ops Cold War & Warzone? – Dexerto

When is next Double XP & Double Weapon XP in Black Ops Cold War & Warzone? Activision2XP promos are important to the multiplayer, Zombies, and battle royale experiences in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. Here’s the latest on when the next session of Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and 2x Battle Pass Tier Progressions will be. Following the launch of Season One of Black Ops Cold War, both multiplayer and Warzone are under a unified progression system, one that offers four different Prestige ranks and an additional 1,000 levels per season. Thus, players are always asking Activision to activate XP promos to help them level up faster, along with 2X Weapon XP, to really help speed up the process of leveling weapons, which has been a lot more of a grind in BOCW. Here’s everything you need to know about the next 2XP period: Is there Double XP now in Black Ops Cold War & Warzone? No, the latest promotion for Double Weapon XP expired on February 15, but there is another one coming soon (see below). When is the next 2XP and 2x Weapon XP in Black Ops Cold War & Warzone? Treyarch announced that the next XP promo will be both Double XP and Double Battle Pass XP in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. With Season Two not that far away, the devs want players to be able to level up their S1 Battle Pass as much as possible while there’s still time. This will begin on Feb 19 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET and end on Feb 22 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. This boost will apply to Cold War’s multiplayer and Zombies, as well as all of the currently available playlists in Warzone. Double XP & Double Battle Pass XP coming soon in #BlackOpsColdWar & #Warzone! • Starts: Feb 19 at 1PM ET • Ends: Feb 22 at 1PM ET pic.twitter.com/gZASI5aK5Y— Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) February 16, 2021 While there is no official schedule released beforehand, you should circle most notable US holidays on your calendar since the devs like to make the boosts available when schools are closed for three or more days, as it means that a good chunk of their player-base will have more free time at home to play. Another good way to guess the dates beforehand is to monitor when a season is coming to an end, since Activision like to give players one final opportunity to level up their rank and weapons before the season wraps up, as is the case with the end of S1. As always, we will be announcing every XP and Battle Pass Tier boost promo on Twitter, @DexertoIntel, so make sure to follow us there and check this page periodically to keep up to date and not miss a single session.

  • When is Modern Warfare’s gameplay reveal? Everything we know – Dexerto

When is Modern Warfare’s gameplay reveal? Everything we know Infinity WardCall of Duty gamers are waiting in anticipation for the gameplay reveal of Modern Warfare, but when is it likely to take place? There have already been a few hints and information surrounding the next time Infinity Ward will shed more light on the gameplay of the next installment to the Modern Warfare series, as we look towards that October 25 release date. With so much speculation surrounding the next big announcements, let’s take a look at when we can expect to see a lot more in-game action. Modern Warfare reveal trailer The launch date of Modern Warfare is not too far away, meaning that fans will be scrolling up and down the 2019 calendar wondering about when they will get a chance to see what the game looks like, in terms of actual footage. So far, we have been given a two-minute glimpse of the game in its reveal trailer, which did give players a sense of how the game would play. Yet, it also included some cinematic scenes to promote the game – as you would expect. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare gameplay coming soon? One CoD leaker, who predicted that the game was not going to be called Call of Dut: Modern Warfare 4 – as it was previously speculated – has claimed that Infinity Ward are lining up two different trailers to be released in mid-July. Victor__Z, who has emerged as a fairly accurate source, said that fans can look forward to closer looks at both multiplayer and single player with the new videos, presumably which will include gameplay action. However, his potentially revealing tweet has since been deleted. Infinity Ward dropping hints If that wasn’t enough to convince players, a representative of Infinity Ward has put players on high alert, after dropping a hugely cryptic hint about a gameplay announcement on Reddit. “Almost there… Stay on target” artpeasant wrote on June 23, responding to a fan’s post to the Call of Duty subreddit. Infinity Ward’s Senior Communications Manager Ashton Williams has also dropped a clue that the gameplay reveal is on it’s way on Twitter, providing fans with even more hope that the wait will soon be over. When a fan complained about fans having not seen any official gameplay from Modern Warfare, Williams responded by saying she heard the user’s frustrations “loud and clear,” and that they needed to: “Hold tight for just a tad longers.” I hear you loud and clear. Hold tight for juuuust a tad longer. — Ashton Williams (@ashtonisVULCAN) June 25, 2019 New Modern Warfare trailers in July? Amid talk of Infinity Ward having to remove parts of the campaign which have been branded too “disturbing” already, fans will be looking forward to seeing the game in action. Whether or not this is the first indication that the developer is working towards a mid-July release date for the next sneak peek at gameplay remains to be seen, but it does mean that CoD fans should be on the lookout for more clues in the coming weeks. Clearly, more gameplay reveals might not be too far away. This article was updated at 5:56am EST on Wednesday, June 26.

  • When is Modern Warfare & Warzone Season 6? Start date, time, more – Dexerto

When is Modern Warfare & Warzone Season 6? Start date, time, more ActivisionSeason 6 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is just around the corner, so, it’s time to look ahead to what Infinity Ward has planned for both multiplayer and Warzone battle royale. Though Modern Warfare is coming to the end of its cycle, and fans are already looking forward to getting their hands on Black Ops Cold War, there is still at least one season of new content to complete. Season 6 is set to follow where Season 5 left off after the Shadow Company arrived in Verdansk, Stadium was blown wide open, and secrets were left to be uncovered. So, here is everything we know about Season 6 so far, including the release date, potential new Operators, modes, and even fresh weapons. Warzone Season 6 date and start time The sixth season of Modern Warfare and Warzone has been given a confirmed start date of Tuesday, September 29. Recent updates have taken place at around 11pm PT (2am ET / 7am BST), so expect it to go live around that time. This date, which comes just a day after the Season 5 battle pass is due to expire, was confirmed by the Call of Duty League’s Minnesota Rokkr after they announced their Rokkr Royale event. The exact start time of the new season is not confirmed and there’s no time set in stone seeing as updates have come out in the early hours of the morning and mid-afternoon. So, it’s a case of wait and see. #RokkrRoyale is coming! Celebrate the start of @CallofDuty Season 6 with some of your favorite streamers, @CODLeague pros and more in our $100k #LiveFromWarzone Tourney starting September 29th! pic.twitter.com/IYzDOLgwmV — Minnesota RØKKR (@ROKKR) September 14, 2020 Who will be Warzone’s Season 6 operator? Each new season has brought a new Operator to Modern Warfare and Warzone – and Season 6 should be no different, despite the fact that it comes right at the end of the cycle. Previously, we’ve seen iconic Modern Warfare characters like Captain Price, Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley, and the villainous Shadow Company. Now, in Season 6, we see two new Operators entering the fold in Farah and Nikolai. Both will be available on the Season 6 Battle Pass: Farah at Tier 0, as soon as you purchase the pass, while Nikolai is actually on the opposite end as a Tier 100 unlock. What will the new weapons be? On top of these major additions, we should also see a new weapon for both multiplayer and Warzone, with the latter also getting a loot pool shake-up in one way or another. The AS VAL assault rifle has already been confirmed to be coming to the game, and there have been rumors about the R700 sniper and AA-12 shotgun making their way to Verdansk, too. New Warzone subway system As shown in the new trailer for Season 6, it looks like Verdansk is going to be getting a fully-fledged underground subway system. After the cargo train that arrived at the start of Season 5, it looks like Activision are going one step further by adding a fully-fledged transportation system linking parts of the map. We already got a glimpse of what these subway stops might look like thanks to a structure seen during the CDL Championship Weekend broadcast in August, but it looks like they’re spread across the following locations: Verdansk International Airport – Verdansk Stadium – Gorengard Lumber Yard – Downtown Tavorsk District – Barakett Promenade East – Verdansk Train Station – Torsk Bloc – Will Warzone Season 6 bring a night map? Previous leaks have hinted at Warzone getting a nighttime mode called Nightfall, but up to now, it’s been purely speculation and hype – just like the apparent addition of zombies roaming Verdansk too. Given that there’s not too much more else that could be added to Warzone, aside from the previously revealed Verdansk Metro system, we may well see it in Season 6 as well. There will also be plenty of new cosmetics for players to get their hands on – including new character, vehicle, and weapon skins, new charms, and even sprays. We’ll just have to wait and see what Activision has in store.

  • When is Modern Warfare Season 5? Season 4 end date, Warzone, more – Dexerto

When is Modern Warfare Season 5? Season 4 end date, Warzone, more Dexerto/ActivisionCall of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 5 is expected to arrive later this summer, so let’s take a look at when it is kicking off and what content could be on the way in the game’s next season. Following a delay of a week or so, Modern Warfare and Warzone’s fourth season launched on June 10 (or June 11 depending on your location in the world). The update brought a host of new content to Infinity Ward’s title, including two new weapons in the form of the Fennec and the CR-56 AMAX. However, some prominent figures in the Call of Duty community, namely Jack ‘CouRage‘ Dunlop, expressed their disappointment with the lack of changes brought by Season 4. He pinpointed a lack of map changes and no Grau adjustments as the season’s most disappointing aspects. Given the delay to Season 4, some suggested that a similar delay would follow for Season Five. However, the Season 4 battle pass is still set to expire on August 4, meaning Season 5 will start imminently, either on or just after that date. This is two months from the original start date of June 3. The average Modern Warfare season has been around two months long, but Season 4 is setting up to be a a week or so shorter, from June 10 to August 4. The date for the mid-season update has not been confirmed, but will likely be some point around Tuesday, July 7. This update has already been confirmed as including weapon adjustments, and a nerf to the Grau. Warzone in Season 5 It has been suggested any changes to the Warzone will be coming to the game’s Dam, in the very northwest of the map. Speculation has centred on the Dam being blown up or collapsing, but not much has changed so far in Season 4. If Dam is indeed set to be broken, the start of Season 5 seems a likely time for it. We are due for a significant change to Verdansk, after all. New maps, weapons and Battle Pass Season 5 will also bring with it a new Battle Pass and – and if past seasons are anything to go off – new weapons too. The weapons for Season 5 are still something of a mystery, but data-mined game files have uncovered a weapon called the G28, that has yet to be announced. Similarly, we will likely get a new multiplayer, gunfight and Ground War map. Season 4, for example, has given us Trench, Scrapyard and Barakett Promendade, with Chesire Park dropping later in the season. As Season 5 draws nearer, more details will become clearer. For now, the speculation continues.

  • When does Modern Warfare Season 4 start? Season 3 end date – Dexerto

When does Modern Warfare Season 4 start? Season 3 end date ActivisionCall of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 4 is expected to arrive imminently, with the initial launch date having been and gone, so let’s take a look at when it is kicking off and what’s coming in the next season. Players are already looking ahead to what’s to come in the next season, following Season 3 which was packed with new content updates for fans to enjoy. Following some new teasers shared by Infinity Ward, the next chapter of Modern Warfare and Warzone looks set to carry on the momentum of the popular title. Here is everything we know about Season 4. Update – Modern Warfare Season 4 delayed On June 1, a day before S4 was expected to launch, Activision and Infinity Ward announced that the release date would be delayed indefinitely. In addition, Season 7 of Call of Duty: Mobile was also postponed to “later dates.” Little over a week later, Infinity Ward confirmed that Modern Warfare Season 4 will be arriving on Wednesday, June 10 at 11pm PDT (June 11, 1am EDT / 7am BST). Intel Incoming on Season Four. New #ModernWarfare and #Warzone content is live tonight, June 10th @ 11PM PDT! — Infinity Ward (@InfinityWard) June 10, 2020 Warzone in Season 4 Warzone was first introduced during Modern Warfare Season 2, a 150-player battle royale title that has quickly taken off and become a mainstay for some of the top streamers. Throughout Season 3, there have been many new playlists variations added to Warzone, such as the introduction of Quads, Stimulus Solos, and much more, allowing players to experience the game in a mode that best suits them. However, despite backlash from the community, Duos has still not been added, leading many to believe that Season 4 could introduce the long-awaited mode. Shortly after Season 3 launched, major map changes started being teased in Warzone, with new underground bunkers that players can explore and howling wolves which can be heard all around Verdansk – could it be that S4 will see a big collection of map changes to keep the game fresh? It has also been suggested that Warzone could be played on a completely new map for Season 4, with leaks claiming that players could be dropping into an arena in ‘Urzikstan’ after this season’s end. It’s unclear what exactly will be introduced to Warzone in Modern Warfare Season 4 but players have called for a number of changes and fixes to come to the game – what is actually implemented, though, is another story. New maps, weapons and Battle Pass While there has not been any new details released on fresh maps and weapons coming to Modern Warfare, there have been leaks hinting at the return of two classic CoD weapons, the Vector and the Galil in Season 4. However, Infinity Ward has not confirmed any of the leaks or given any clues as to what players can expect or how the new Battle Pass will look, but this page will be updated with all new information as and when it’s available. It’s unlikely that players have to wait much longer for Season 4, with the initial launch date having passed already and Season 3 as good as finished, but make sure you check back for any updates on Modern Warfare and Warzone.

  • When is Modern Warfare Season 3? Season Two end date, Warzone, more – Dexerto

When is Modern Warfare Season 3? Season Two end date, Warzone, more Infinity WardSeason 3 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is just around the corner and it’s time to look ahead at what Infinity Ward have planned for the game’s multiplayer and Warzone battle royale. It’s been a busy few weeks for the developers at Infinity Ward with the release of Warzone, and things are not about to slow down. Modern Warfare Season 3 is expected to bring a plethora of new content and changes to the game and fans will be especially interested in what lays in store for multiplayer and BR. Modern Warfare Season Three release date Season 2 is scheduled to wrap up on Wednesday, April 8, which is when Season 3 will also kick off. There will be a massive update implementing this switch, and while the exact release time hasn’t been confirmed yet, it’s more than likely to roll out at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Much like the image above, a full roadmap will likely be released on Monday, April 6, to give fans a solid preview of what to expect both on day one of the new season and the weeks that follow. Read More: Warzone trio topple their own kill record – This will mark the approximate midway point of the game’s life cycle, which means fans should expect another two to three seasons before Modern Warfare takes a back seat to the next CoD. New maps and weapons After releasing the MW2 Campaign Remastered on March 31, Activision revealed that they’re planning on adding classic elements from the series to the current MW title, specifically some of the maps, and at least a part of that will come in Season 3. In fact, the most recent update glitched out to reveal that Backlot and Village, from CoD4 and MW3 respectively, are already in the game but not yet playable. Seeing as how we’ve already gotten three old-school maps these last two seasons (Shipment, Vacant, Rust), this would further add to the remastered collection. As for the weapons, a recent leak on Reddit revealed the two new guns will be the SKS sniper rifle and Renetti pistol. Here are the in-game descriptions for both, according to the post: SKS – Lightweight semi-auto Carbine chambered in 7.62x39mm. This hard-hitting and agile Soviet rifle focuses on utility over accuracy. It flaunts a faster fire rate than other weapons in its class, but a carefully placed round will eliminate the need for follow up shots entirely. This classic DMR has seen a lot of battles, and its unique gunsmith configurations reflect a diverse service history. Renetti – Well rounded semi-auto 9mm pistol. This unassuming sidearm excels in close range combat, and features gunsmithing capabilities unique to the pistol class that permit a variety of engagement strategies. More than likely, Infinity Ward will add a third new weapon during the course of the season, as they did with the Crossbow in Season 1 and VLK Shotgun in Season 2, but there haven’t been any leaks about that yet. Battle Pass Speaking of the Battle Pass, there will be another one released as part of Season 3 with 100 tiers of content for players to unlock. Much like the previous ones, this Pass will include both a free and premium version, the latter costing 1,000 CoD Points (~ $10 USD) but offering a much larger selection of items. Read More: Best perks to use in Call of Duty Warzone – As for what it’ll include, it’s expected to be full of Operator skins, weapon blueprints, watches, weapon charms, XP boosts, CoD Points, in addition to the two new weapons. Warzone Warzone is still very much the talk of the town when it comes to Call of Duty, so it would be safe to assume that the Season 3 update will more than likely inject some new content for the BR as well. While we don’t yet know what that’ll be, recent leaks suggest that a bunch of new modes could be on the way, including the highly-requested Duos and Squads playlist. Other modes, which look like they’ll be limited-time affairs, include High Action, Shotty Snipers, One Shot, and Realism BR. Battle Royale Duos Teams of Two. Loot and Kill. Last team standing wins. – – Battle Royale Quads Teams of Four. Loot and Kill. Last team standing wins. – – Battle Royale High Action Loot and Kill. The Gas closes in faster, so get moving. – – Battle Royale Shotty Snipers Shotguns and Snipers only. Near? Far? Wherever…BR. There are no Loadout drops. – – Battle Royale One Shot Battle Royale with 1-shot Headshots and no loadout drops. – – Realism Battle Royale Hardcore Battle Royale – – We could also see some map changes made to Verdansk in Season 3. What would this include? Well, what jumps to mind first are the numerous locked bunkers spread throughout the vast terrain that each have keypads players can interact with but not open. Thanks to some digging on the official CoD website, we already know that the bunkers have extremely high loot ratings, which suggests that they could be opened at some point. What better time than the turn of the season? Infinity Ward could entertain the idea of adding more locations to the map as well, as there are expansive areas that are empty. However, it’s unlikely that all of these changes will be made on day one, but we’ll just have to wait and see. Of course, it’s important to note that any information based on leaks and speculation should not be considered official until announced by Infinity Ward and/or Activision. Fortunately, with there being less than a week until Season 3 launches, we don’t have to wait too long to see what Infinity Ward and Activision have up their sleeves!

  • When is Modern Warfare Season 2? Season One end date, battle pass, more – Dexerto

When is Modern Warfare Season 2? Season One end date, battle pass, more ActivisionNow Infinity Ward have confirmed the extension of Modern Warfare’s first season, we look ahead to Season Two and what could be in-store for Call of Duty fans everywhere. Modern Warfare’s first season brought a plethora of goodies for Call of Duty players. Two new Operators, two brand-new weapons, four additional Spec Ops missions alongside a host of new maps and modes, Infinity Ward most definitely got the ball rolling with their new season-based content model. Following the announcement of the Season One extension (until February 11), players have been itching to get their hands on next season’s Battle Pass. But what exactly has Infinity Ward got up their sleeve for Season Two? Season Two release date With Season One set to end after a 10-week lifespan, it is presumed that there will be a straight swap of the baton — meaning that Season Two should start on Tuesday, February 11 to coincide with the first season’s end. Since there has been no official word from either Activision or Infinity Ward, the exact time and size of the update are yet to be revealed, although MW patches usually go live around 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Battle Royale in Season Two? Players have been anticipating the release of a Modern Warfare Battle Royale ever since a data miner leaked the mode from the game files back in November 2019. According to YouTuber ‘TheGamingRevolution,’ a source from Infinity Ward reportedly suggested that the sought-after game mode had been delayed to coincide with Season One’s end date as it “needs more time” — which would justify the two-week extension. While leaks suggest that a Battle Royale could indeed be on the cards in the forthcoming season, no official information has surfaced on how close the game mode is to completion. Heck, perhaps the strings of code are all a ruse to steer data miners away from a bigger picture altogether? Season Two Battle Pass As per Modern Warfare’s first season, there will likely be one free and one paid iteration of the Season Two Battle Pass. There will be over 100-tiers worth of content for players grinding through the paid version, which will cost players 1,000 COD Points. As per TheGamingRevolution’s video and various in-game easter eggs, Ghost, the iconic character from the MW series, looks set to be added as an Operator at some point during Season Two. Additional leaked content in the strings of the game files includes two new game modes (One in the Chamber and All of Nothing) alongside the blueprints of what looks like a Ballistic Knife. Potential Season Two maps Season One welcomed plenty of new maps, including some golden oldies from the original Modern Warfare. A previous leak uncovered a shed load of maps in the game files. Some of the maps from the previously leaked list have now made an appearance in the game, so here’s a list of the maps which are yet to surface. Notably, fans will be especially excited to see Modern Warfare 2’s iconic close-quarters map Rust still in the pipeline! Aniyah Tac – Dam – Krovnik Farmland – Hospital – Layover – Lowline – Lumber – Malyshev – Milbase – Oasis – Port – Prison – Rivne – Slums – Stadium – Sub Base – Super – Urzikstan – Torez – Transit – TV Station – Faridah – Rust – Takedown – Borderline – Smetna Farms (Ground War) – Since nothing has been officially confirmed by Infinity Ward, we are entirely reliant on leaks of information and/or easter eggs — which, as always, should be taken with a pinch of salt. Be sure to bookmark this page as we keep it updated with all of the latest information relating to Modern Warfare’s next big content drop.

ActivisionSeason 4 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 is now underway, with some serious changes coming to the Call of Duty battle royale, while multiplayer is being given new maps and modes to play. But, looking ahead, when is Season 4 Reloaded going to be? Season 4 is set to be one of the shortest seasons of Call of Duty that we’ve had so far. Rather than the usual approximately 60-day timeframe of each season, the Battle Pass timer in-game sees it last just 48 days. • When is League Play coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4? Everything we know so far – Dexerto

When is League Play coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4? Everything we know so far On January 8, Treyarch finally shared a much-anticipated update on League Play in Black Ops 4, stating that it would be released at the end of January. However, with February on the horizon, there has still been no official word on an exact release date for League Play. The latest installment in the Call of Duty: Black Ops series was released in October of 2018 and the developers at Treyarch made it clear, even before release day, that fans could expect League Play to be added at some point. While fans had grown restless over the lack of updates on the important game mode, Treyarch’s January 8 update no doubt helped ease of the lot of their fears and gives players something to look forward to. Black Ops 4 was released on October 12. What is League Play? Introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, League Play was a competitive matchmaking system that allowed players to compete against other people of a similar skill level around the world. Players would compete using the same rules, maps and modes that were being used in professional matches and could be ranked anywhere from Iron to Master division. League Play has returned in different forms, and under a number of different names, in various other Call of Duty titles since Black Ops 2, but the original is still fondly looked upon as the best by many players. Black Ops 2’s Raid map was a common feature in League Play. When will League Play go live? While many expected League Play to go live around the time of CWL Vegas back in December, Treyarch said that they have been “taking the time required” to make sure that League Play releases in the best state possible. Treyarch stated back on January 8 that they intended to release League Play by the end of the month, but due to the company’s continued work on the mode, the date was subject to chance. Since then, Treyarch have been extremely secretive about the release of the competitive playlist, and with Tuesday, January 29’s v1.12 update the last one scheduled for January, it seemed unlikely that the development team will be able to live up to their initial timeframe. This was confirmed when Treyarch released a detailed explanation on League Play on January 29 that pushed the launch out to “mid-February.” With the CWL Pro League looming, fans are becoming restless in their wait for League Play. How will League Play work in Black Ops 4? After receiving much criticism following the initial explanation of League Play, Treyarch made a couple of changes to how things will work that put Black Ops 4 League Play in line with previous entries. Most notably, League Play will be available all week instead of during a shortened, three-day period as originally stated. Moreover, new ladder features and rewards have been announced by Treyarch, as well. While not available at release, Teams and Clans are features that will be added at some point down the line. Don’t forget to follow @DexertoINTEL on Twitter for any further updates on League Play and for everything else Call of Duty related.

  • When is Krampus leaving Warzone & Vanguard? Festive Fervor end date – Dexerto

When is Krampus leaving Warzone & Vanguard? Festive Fervor end date Treyarch/ActivisionKrampus has been terrorizing players in both Warzone & Vanguard throughout the Festive Fervor event, so when is the folklore creature leaving? Warzone & Vanguard’s Festive Fervor has provided players with a range of Christmas-themed cosmetics and content over the holiday season, but the arrival of Krampus hasn’t exactly been a popular addition. The creature had already been nerfed just four days after the beginning of the event after backlash from the community, with Raven reducing Krampus’ health in all modes. Although that certainly made it easier to kill, a lot of players just want to be rid of the monster once and for all. So, when does the Festive Fervor event end, and does that mean Krampus is going to be removed? When is Krampus being removed from Warzone & Vanguard? Warzone and Vanguard’s Festive Fervor event is set to end on January 5, 2022, which means Krampus will also be leaving on this date as well. It’s worth noting that all of the limited-time festive additions will be removed at the end of the event, including Holiday Trees and Shipmas. While the Christmas event has been received positively by the community as a whole, it’s unlikely Krampus will be remembered fondly. A lot of players were hoping that Krampus would be removed from Warzone & Vanguard before the end of the event, but as the monster is tied to multiple challenges, that would never have been an option. The question is, will the Call of Duty community ever see Krampus again? That’s hard to say, it all depends on what the devs have in store for the next Christmas event.

  • When is Fortune’s Keep returning to Warzone? – Dexerto

When is Fortune’s Keep returning to Warzone? ActivisionFortune’s Keep was removed from Warzone on November 16, 2022, when Warzone 2 launched, just a few short months after it was first added to the game. Fortunately, it’s returning to the game, but when can you expect it back? Fortune’s Keep was the second small-scale Resurgence map introduced to the Call of Duty battle royale hit, and while it was never quite as popular as Rebirth, certainly had its share of fans among the playerbase. Many players got used to the fast pace of Fortune’s Keep and Rebirth Island, and while Vondel and Ashika Island have been semi-popular in the Resurgence modes, they haven’t quite hit the same level. With that in mind, we know that both Fortune’s Keep and Rebirth Island will be returning to Warzone. But is there a set date for the return of Fortune’s Keep to Warzone yet? Does Fortune’s Keep have a Warzone return date? At the time of writing, there is not a specific date for Fortune’s Keep’s return to Warzone, though we know it will be coming back in early 2024. How early in the year that is remains to be seen. Season 2 of Modern Warfare 3 is expected to launch in February, though that may be a little too early, with Season 3 likely to be around 2 months following that in April. So, while we don’t have a specific date, you should expect to see the returning maps sometime around those periods of time, assuming nothing changes. At the time of writing, it is unclear what exactly will happen with Vondel and Ashika Island once Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep return. They may be thrown into the rotation with the newer maps, or replace them entirely, but as long as players can drop back into their old favorite haunts, it’s unlikely they’ll be too concerned about Vondel and Ashika for the time being.
