  • Warzone’s Cooper Carbine can go invisible thanks to Jackal God blueprint bug – Dexerto

Warzone’s Cooper Carbine can go invisible thanks to Jackal God blueprint bug ActivisionWarzone’s Cooper Carbine is a multipurpose Assault Rifle that has already seen a dominant run in the Pacific era of the game. Now, there’s a blueprint that turns most of the gun invisible, and players are absolutely popping off while using it. The Cooper Carbine has managed to stay at the head of the pack for much of the Vanguard era of Warzone. The close-range AR provides a blazing fast fire rate, ridiculously low recoil, and a hipfire spread that rivals most SMGs in the game as well. There aren’t many ways that the developers could have made the weapon better, but turning it invisible and making it harder for other players to spot anyone carrying it is a plot twist that no one saw coming. Invisible Cooper Carbine blueprint in Warzone The invisibility glitch happens thanks to an attachment in the Jackal God blueprint bundle. Applying the barrel of this variant to a non-blueprint version of the Cooper turns most of the middle section of the gun invisible to everyone, making it almost impossible to see. Several creators have showcased how strong this gun is with names like Tekk and FaZe Booya putting on absolute clinics with it on Rebirth Island. TikTok also has clips of people shredding on Caldera with it, and while it’s impossible to know precisely how much the invisibility is helping, looking at someone carrying the gun makes it obvious that they’re harder to see, especially if they’re on a head glitch or poking out of a window to aim at you. Of course, this isn’t something that will be in the game forever. The devs are likely already aware of the issue, so buying this one to explicitly take advantage of this bug might be an unwise investment unless you love the blueprint itself.

  • Warzone’s cheating update gets mixed reactions from CoD players & streamers – Dexerto

Warzone’s cheating update gets mixed reactions from CoD players & streamers ActivisionActivision finally responded to the cheating issue plaguing Warzone right now by banning 60,000 accounts and promising to do more in terms of anti-cheat but the response has been mixed, with some players thinking it’s clearly not enough for the battle royale game in its current state. On February 3, 2021, Activision finally addressed the elephant in the room: the company announced it would be be taking a serious look into the cheating problem affecting Call of Duty: Warzone. Despite numerous ban waves, little has been done to seriously nip the issue the bud, much to the frustration of the community. As a part of their announcement, the publishing giant confirmed that it had banned 60,000 cheating accounts in a new ban wave and that it would be taking steps to improve its anti-cheat software, as well as its communication with the players. Obviously, some streamers and content creators have taken this as unequivocal good news, as the community rarely got an update on anti-cheat before. That being said, others clearly aren’t satisfied with this response, thinking it’s not enough considering the state the game is in right now. Reactions to the Warzone ban wave and cheating update One of the most notable responses has been from TimtheTatman, who clearly wasn’t impressed by the new wave of bans. In a recent stream, he didn’t mince words, saying that he “didn’t care” about the bans until the game gets a proper anti-cheat system. “60,000 accounts got banned today? Yeah, and it’s gonna be 60,000 new accounts, who gives a f*ck,” Tim said. “The fact that they are celebrating banning 60,000 accounts is almost laughable, cause all they’re gonna do is just make another account. 60,000+ accounts have been banned today for cheating in Call of Duty & Warzone Timmy Tenders: “60,000 cheaters got banned today? That’s gonna be 60,000 new accounts, who gives a fuck?” pic.twitter.com/nxVqIpanrI — Wicked Good Gaming (@WickedGoodGames) February 3, 2021 Other content creators were a bit more receptive to the move. Drift0r put out a short video on his Twitter account after the update went live, commenting on the changes that Raven and Activision have promised to implement in the future, and he seemed a bit more positive about it. “Everything is looking really good, I mean, this might take a little while to implement, but we went from disaster to on the right path to fix…and I’m hoping that over the next couple of weeks Warzone returns and becomes an awesome cheat-free game once again,” Drift0r said. Well that was fast… @RavenSoftware just banned 60,000 Warzone cheaters with more bans to come and a huge post about future anti-cheat measures! pic.twitter.com/0TDHTYC1Sz — Drift0r (@Drift0r) February 2, 2021 Another seemingly positive reaction came from Vikkstar, who famously quit Warzone recently back at the end of January after witnessing cheaters streaming on Facebook. After the news was posted to Call of Duty’s official Twitter account, the streamer tweeted that it was a “step in the right direction” and that he hoped it all paid off. Definitely a step in the right direction. Hoping the new resources dedicated to monitoring and enforcement pay off. https://t.co/SfOEYEWwKZ — Vikkstar123 ★ (@Vikkstar123) February 2, 2021 Other members of the community seem to be mixed about the whole situation as well, with a seemingly even split between people who are reacting positively, and people who think that this is not enough or even a non-response. https://twitter.com/AARONCREATE/status/1356744417042853888?s=20 All in all, it remains to be seen just how effective this is going to be. As people point out, the fact that these weren’t hardware bans means all of those 60,000 players can just make a new account and come right back on, generally without a problem. Here’s hoping they follow through with all their promises, however, and address the issue head-on.

  • Warzone’s ‘camper exterminator’ LMG loadout is taking over TikTok – Dexerto

Warzone’s ‘camper exterminator’ LMG loadout is taking over TikTok Treyarch/ActivisionThe Modern Warfare 2 Open Beta officially concluded and one TikToker may have found the perfect overpowered LMG to deal with an annoying camper in the return to Warzone. Season 5 marks Warzone’s final season before transitioning to Warzone 2 in November. Season 5 Reloaded is the last major update for the critically-acclaimed battle royale, and Warzone expert WhosImmortal expects a massive meta shakeup. The PPSh-41, Armaguerra 43, and UGM-8 are far and away the top three most used weapons in Warzone, according to WZRanked. However, there is an overlooked LMG that may give the UGM-8 a run for its money. The PKM LMG doesn’t necessarily stand out as a meta weapon, but a Tik Toker showcased its untapped potential. TikToker reveals anti-camper Warzone loadout TikToker gamewithgabe revealed a PKM loadout called the “camper exterminator.” You may ask yourself why it would be called that, but the TikToker claimed the loadout “makes walls paper thin.” In his highlight montage, the PKM makes quick work of boxes, metal, and even concrete walls. Several players accused the TikToker of cheating after getting shredded to pieces behind their cover, but the secret ingredient is FMJ. The FMJ Perk does not increase damage dealt to enemies, but it does have an impact on being able to deal damage through walls. FMJ makes it possible to shoot “campers” behind cover, and although not dealing extra damage, using a 200-round magazine makes taking cover a nightmare for enemies. Paired with a Monolithic Suppressor and VLK 3.0x Optic, This PKM loadout is perfect for laser-beaming enemies from across the map with little to no recoil penalty. Here is the full loadout. Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor – Barrel: 26.9″ Extended Barrel – Magazine: 200 Round Belts – Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic – Perk: FMJ – If you are looking to spice up your Warzone experience during the final doldrums of Caldrea, this is the perfect loadout for you.

  • Warzone’s Bunker 11 finally opens: New Blueprint, event teasers, more – Dexerto

Warzone’s Bunker 11 finally opens: New Blueprint, event teasers, more Infinity WardWarzone’s latest update finally allowed players to access vaults across Verdansk, and the biggest of them all has just opened up. From new loot to major event teasers, here’s a full rundown on Bunker 11. Infinity Ward’s massive May 18 update drastically shook things up all across Warzone. Not only were new items introduced, and various weapons nerfed, but the highly-anticipated vaults finally opened up. These vaults can be accessed with key cards scattered throughout the map. Once you’ve collected a card and made your way to a vault, you’ll find plenty of high-tier loot sitting inside for your squad. However, the biggest vault of them all, Bunker 11, took a little while longer to open. Teams have finally made their way inside and there’s plenty to unravel. New Weapon Blueprint in Warzone’s Bunker 11 After searching through the first few rooms, Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop and his 100 Thieves trio happened upon a brand new weapon Blueprint. The ‘Mud Drauber’ is a new Legendary-tier SMG Blueprint for the MP7. Once equipped for the first time, this version of the powerful weapon appears to permanently unlock for the entire team. This means you can load into your next Warzone game with the variant in your loadout drop. Bunker 11 Easter Eggs and Storyline Teasers The first room of the bunker features two screens with various text on each. Directly underneath is an interactive button that allows players to ‘reboot’ a computer. This seemingly opens a door to the next room where things ramp up a notch. A bigger conference room lines tables and chairs around three ominous countdown timers. These tick away to 0:00:02 before glitching out and remaining stuck. There’s no telling exactly what this timer could be counting towards, though one of the next rooms features a nuclear weapon in development. • Warzone’s “broken” Tec-9 TikTok loadout rivals meta OTs 9 SMG – Dexerto

Warzone’s “broken” Tec-9 TikTok loadout rivals meta OTs 9 SMG ActivisionTikTok users having been giving a little love to Warzone’s Tec-9 and have got some loadouts that rival meta SMGs like the OTs 9. When it comes to Warzone’s SMGs, there have been a few different top dogs in the past. The MP5 and the Milano stood out at the start of the Cold War cycle, before the MAC-10 muscled in on their turf and took over. The Bullfrog, AK-74u, and PPSH have all gotten love recently as well, but it’s the OTs 9 that currently holds the crown. As per WZRanked’s charts, the OTs 9 has become the second most-used weapon in the game, and is six places above its nearest SMG counterpart. However, it’s an underrated choice – the 58 placed TEC-9 – that could actually be the one true king. A few different loadouts for the Black Ops Cold War SMG have been doing the rounds on Warzone and getting some love from players, with some calling it “insane” and even “broken.” Like previous TEC-9 loadouts, these setups revolve around the Full Auto Repeater muzzle, Task Force barrel, and Tiger Team Spotlight laser. There is no room for the Microflex LED sight this time around, nor the Serpent Wrap grip. Instead, players are using the Raider Stock or Field Agent Grip, with either the 40 round Fast Mag or STANAG 48 round ammunition attachment. TikTok TEC-9 Warzone loadout Muzzle: Full Auto Repeater – Barrel: Task Force Barrel – Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip – Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight – Ammunition: STANAG 48 round – https://www.tiktok.com/@mythfps/video/7021599215046495494?lang=en&is_copy_url=1&is_from_webapp=v1 As some videos have pointed out, the loadout gives the TEC-9 a deadly Time-to-Kill (TTK) and one that rivals the OTs 9. It’s unlikely that we’ll see the TEC-9 take a huge leap up the usage charts anytime soon, but don’t be shocked if you come across it more, especially on Rebirth Island.

  • Warzone’s broken speed boost attachments finally addressed by devs – Dexerto

Warzone’s broken speed boost attachments finally addressed by devs ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone developers Raven Software have, finally, addressed the broken grip attachments with Vanguard weapons that were giving players a massive speed boost. When the Warzone Season 4 update was finally released by Raven Software, fans of the Call of Duty battle royale quickly flocked to the game to try out the brand-new map, Fortune’s Keep. However, despite the excitement of the new map, players uncovered a bit of a shocking surprise with a few of the weapon attachments. Most notably, Taped and Leather Grip had been boosting the speed of weapons to the point where players could almost break the land speed record. As SMGs and players with insane movement skills took advantage of the issues, it didn’t take long for players to call for a change from Raven. And while it may have taken a minute, the devs had reverted their “mistake” with the attachments. On June 25, Raven Software’s Tully Ackland – a senior game designer at the studio – noted that the issues with both Taped and Leather Grip had finally been rectified. “Taped Grip (and Leather) are now “as intended”. I know that might come as a disappointment to some, but will own up to the mistake – fostering a healthy skill gap is a goal, but this was pretty insane,” Ackland tweeted, noting that it could make for a good LTM in the future. The Raven dev added that the goal of the tuning had been to “enable choice when building a loadout,” and that Taped Grip can still be a “valuable” pick. Though, don’t be expecting to break the sound barrier. The primary goal of the attachment tuning was to enable choice when building a load out. “Some” increased mobility on Taped is still a valuable pick when going for your “gotta go fast” builds. — Tully Ackland (@TullyAckland) June 25, 2022 As the dev notes, the values of how Taped Grip now boosts mobility have been changed, but it probably won’t take long before someone like JGOD or TrueGameData does the real math on it.

  • Warzone players say Battle Royale is “dead” as devs ignore it for Resurgence – Dexerto

Warzone players say Battle Royale is “dead” as devs ignore it for Resurgence ActivisionCall of Duty Warzone fans believe that the battle royale mode is “dead” compared to Resurgence as it has been ignored again for new content in Season 3. When Season 3 for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone gets underway, the battle royale is going to undergo some big changes. The fan-favorite map Rebirth Island will be returning, there will be two new mission contracts, and things will become a bit more unified with Warzone mobile. However, Rebirth Island’s return to the Warzone playlists will only be for the Resurgence side of things. The bog standard Battle Royale mode has, well, been ignored yet again and players aren’t too pleased by it. “Two seasons in a row has been purely Resurgenc content. BR is dead. This game is amazing for Resurgence fans but they’re killing BR by forcing resurgence into it with all the respawn chances and giving is next too no content. Majority of players have only asked for a player count increase and we can’t even have that…,” Redditor EscortGamer opined. “Such a shame what they’ve done to BR because it’s SOO simple to make that mode play soo much better than it does! for example: remove flares, respawn and gulag tokens, 2nd chance gualgs, and multiple self-revives and increase player count to 150… game will play a LOT better! It’s Battle Royale, not a side mode to resurgence.” Other players quickly agreed, with some calling for the big map – Urzikstan – to get “some love” before long. “ As someone who LOVES BR, really hate the direction it’s going with Raven forcing a lot of Resurgence mechanics into a BR,” they added. “Giving Urzikstan a player count above 100 with fewer respawn gimmicks would be good too,” another suggested. “The big map is slow and clunky to play,” another said, suggesting map changes. Some players are pinning their hopes on Verdansk’s return as the big boost that battle royale needs. Though, we’ll have to wait and see on that front – especially as its return date hasn’t been confirmed.

  • Warzone’s big health change is about to ruin the meta weapons – Dexerto

Warzone’s big health change is about to ruin the meta weapons ActivisionThe Call of Duty: Warzone devs have teased some pretty big changes coming to health in the near future, and that could spell bad news for some of the battle royale’s current best weapons. Ever since Warzone first launched as a part of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, health and armor have always been a massive talking point. For some players, it is simply set too low given how quickly the current crop of weapons can wipe out an enemy. Other fans prefer how things played out when the Iron Trials LTM was around, as the values of health and armor were significantly increased, making for much more even gunfights. Those fans hoping for health and armor changes are seemingly in luck, given that Raven Software has taken the communities temperature on what they’d like to see it valued at moving forward – with an overwhelming majority in favor of things ticking up slightly to around 150 health. However, as Warzone YouTuber WhosImmortal points out, that change will likely spell bad news for some of the game’s most popular weapons as the TTK will drastically change. Using stats provided by TrueGameData, the YouTuber noted that the Cooper Carbine and Automaton – with their current meta builds – could experience a huge drop-off when compared to the CR-56 AMAX, which would jump right to the front of the TTK queue. Pointing out the Bren, which has been the go-to weapon of most in Caldera, the YouTuber notes that it could still be a dominant force but would likely sit behind both the AMAX and Cold War AK-47, provided there were no massive weapon tweaks. Of course, with this health change coming as a part of the Season 2 Reloaded update, we could expect some weapon tweaks – but maybe not as many as beforehand. Either way, the meta is set to undergo a massive shift before long, so it’s best to be prepared for what the developers have up their sleeves.

  • Warzone’s best SMG dominates as an AR & it should be nerfed – Dexerto

Warzone’s best SMG dominates as an AR & it should be nerfed ActivisionWarzone’s best SMG, the AMR9, is actually dominating when built like an assault rifle, and it’s “ridiculously good” as a sniper support option. When Call of Duty’s Create a Class system was overhauled a few years ago with the introduction of weapon tuning, players could finally build their loadouts exactly to their liking. Many used the tuning to completely negate recoil or up the bullet velocity, but others went different ways too. In some of these cases, players had started transforming weapons entirely. LMGs were being run like Assault Rifles, snipers like shotguns, and pistols like SMGs. Well, that is making a return thanks to WhosImmortal’s March 24 video, as he noted that the best SMG in Warzone – the AMR9 – can actually operate like an Assault Rifle. And, it is pretty deadly to boot. That’s right, the battle royale’s best SMG is also dominating when used like an AR, and it’s not done through any gimmick attachments – it is just really good in the mid-range. “Another SMG doing ridiculously good right now is actually the AMR9 built to be an Assault Rifle. Quite frankly, I’m surprised this hasn’t been adjusted because, as it stands, the AMR9 is by far the best SMG when you get out into the mid-range area – its TTK is so much faster than everything else in that range – but this is also outgunning other mid-range options like LMGs, some rifles,” the YouTuber said. He noted that the AMR9 build does still have the mobility “somewhat” of an SMG, which makes it even better when built as an assault rifle. Barrel: Nimbus-6 Integrated Suppressor – Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support – Optic: JAK Glassless Optic – Ammunition: 5.56 Nato High Grain – Magazine: 50-round mag – Timestamp of 2:15 WhosImmortal notes that the 100-round mag can be used if you’d want an even larger magazine, but the 50-round one gets the job done well enough. Most players will likely stick to using the SMG as it is intended – up close and in the short-range – but don’t be shocked to see getting some love as a pseudo-AR.

  • Warzone’s April Fools LTM serves as a ludicrous throwback to Advanced Warfare – Dexerto

Warzone’s April Fools LTM serves as a ludicrous throwback to Advanced Warfare ActivisionWarzone’s April Fools event, Totally Advanced Resurgence, is a hilarious callback to one of Sledgehammer Games’ previous works. April Fools’ Day is here, and with it, everyone is trying to create the next big memorable joke. However, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software are opting for a different route with the new Warzone LTM, Totally Advanced Resurgence. In this mode, 72 players drop into a medium-sized map, similar to the standard Resurgence mode, albeit with different rules. Players are given super jump, slide, and running buffs, Loadouts spawn at the beginning of the match, and everyone is given the Specialist bonus. The results are hilarious, as players fly around the map without a care in the world. Early impressions are flying in, with many dubbing the new Warzone mode as Advanced Warfare 2.0, an ode to one of Sledgehammer’s previous works and the first to introduce the EXO movement to Call of Duty. Many a creator have loaded in to experience the lunacy, such as Tyler “TeePee” Polchow, who got the full experience of Totally Advanced Resurgence in all of its madness. Players reaching extraordinary heights, diving straight into action, and more unfold, as TeePee hilariously nabs the victory. It’s unclear how long this mode will be available in Warzone, since Season 3 commences on April 3. However, with fans petitioning it to become permanent, hopefully, the developers will think about extending the mode’s stay in Warzone.

  • Warzone’s April 9 update ‘breaks’ game for controller players – Dexerto

Warzone’s April 9 update ‘breaks’ game for controller players ActivisionWarzone rolled out its scheduled update on April 9 enabling vehicles on Rebirth Island, however, the patch has caused some unwelcome bugs to crop up for controller players. A small update for Warzone rolled out on April 9, enabling vehicles in the game’s recently returned Rebirth Island Resurgence mode. However, since the launch of the minor patch, controller players have found themselves afflicted with a number of gameplay bugs. “Game randomly freezing up cost me a rebirth match, has this happened to anyone else?” One player asked, sharing a clip of one particular bug. The footage shows the game freezing suddenly as the player is shooting at an enemy. They were far from alone in their experience, as well. “I have this constantly since today on PS5, have never had it before,” Another player responded to the thread. Other issues have also cropped up, including frequent lobby crashes and an inability for controller players to use their killstreaks. So far, there’s been no word from the developers about a fix for any of the known issues. Players vented their frustrations over the issues across multiple Reddit threads. One thread listed out the problems, “killstreaks can’t be used, the game constantly lags out (lobby crashes) and Renetti is so overpowered it genuinely feels like cheating!” calling on the mods to “fix the game ASAP.” Players across both console and PC have already been vocal about issues with the Renetti pistol dominating the meta and causing some imbalance. With no nerf for the pistol in sight yet, and these new bugs cropping up, many fans are feeling disappointed by the game’s current state of play.

  • Warzone’s anti-cheat hero: TimTheTatMan gets another hacker banned mid-game – Dexerto

Warzone’s anti-cheat hero: TimTheTatMan gets another hacker banned mid-game Twitter, @Nadeshot / ActivisionThere are many complaints about the (lack of) anti-cheat in Warzone, but the community has a hero to help drive out the darkness. Twitch streamer TimTheTatMan has gotten yet another hacker banned mid-game. It’s a familiar feeling for many gamers. Somebody kills you in a suspicious manner and you proceed to spectate them and find out that they are indeed cheating. You boot up the report menu, report them for hacking, and eventually that pain becomes embedded deep down as no repercussions are ever handed out. So, imagine the instant satisfaction and outright joy that a Warzone lobby experienced when streamer extraordinaire, TimTheTatMan, got a cheater banned mid-game. No months of accepting the pain, just instant consequences — a magical experience. For Tim, he was delighted from the grave as he spectated the hacker get banished. And it turns out the lobby he saved was grateful as well, as the streamer received a bounty of applause during the post-game victory screen. Another hacker was banned live on @timthetatman’s stream today. pic.twitter.com/7cvcvDOcCc — CharlieIntel (@charlieINTEL) June 7, 2021 In the clip, which has become widely shared across social media, Tim was spectating a hacker and just praying on his downfall. When the hacker finally vanishes, the streamer lets out a guttural roar: “Let’s go! Built different! … That’s what happens when you cheat in our solo spectating games. Get out of here. Today justice was served!” And, when it came to the post-match screen with open comms, it turned out that people were very happy with Tim’s act of service. Tim was a hero in the end game chat 😂 pic.twitter.com/6WYNgcVIMR — Wicked Good Gaming (@WickedGoodGames) June 7, 2021 The first line of appreciation as soon as comm opened up: “Yo Tim, you’re the f**king best man!” And, of course, it was followed by cheers and hype. It remains unclear why exactly this hacker got banned mid-game. One working theory is that Tim’s team spoke with the developers to get him kicked out, since big streamers typically have strong connections. If that’s true, then Tim is a fantastic anti-cheat — especially since he’s been a part of similar success stories in the past.

  • Warzone’s akimbo shotguns are absolutely deadly after Season 2 meta buff – Dexerto

Warzone’s akimbo shotguns are absolutely deadly after Season 2 meta buff Treyarch/ActivisionThe akimbo Double Barrel shotguns are back to being pretty deadly in Call of Duty: Warzone following the Season 2 reloaded update, and could be a sneaky riser when it comes to secondary weapons. For the last few months, the meta in Call of Duty: Warzone has been a pretty settled one, with Assault Rifles and Sniper Rifles sitting atop of the pile when it comes to matches on both Caldera and Rebirth Island. There are plenty of players, though, who are still experimenting with non-meta weapons, looking to break the cycle and have a bit of fun with some underused guns. That includes shotguns, which have had their moments in Warzone – especially at the start of the integration with Vanguard, as the Akimbo version of the Double Barrel shotguns were pretty broken. While they may not have one-shot potential anymore, they’re still pretty solid. Yes, that’s right, if you’re looking to shake up your loadouts and run a new secondary weapon, then the Double Barrel shotguns could be pretty viable. Why? Well, as TimTheTatMan points out, all the Vanguard shotguns were given a damage buff with the Season 2 Reloaded update. The popular streamer highlighted the powerful side-arms in his March 27 video, showing that the Akimbo duo can still knock enemies to the ground with just two shots – but you don’t need some of the other meta attachments. Popular choices like the Wilkie Huntsmen barrel, Slate Reflector optic, and Hollow Point rounds are done away with, being replaced by the Sawed-Off barrel, SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x, as well as Buck and Slug rounds. All in all, the build is good enough for double-digit kills. TimTheTatMan two-shot akimbo shotgun loadout for Warzone Muzzle: M97 Choke – Barrel: Sawed-Off – Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x – Underbarrel: Blocked by Akimbo perk – Stock: Removed Stock – Magazine: None – Ammunition: Buck and Slug – Rear Grip: Pine Tar Grip – Perk 1: Akimbo – Perk 2: – While the shotguns are not likely to take over the meta completely, seeing as they no longer one-shot enemies like before, they are still pretty solid. So, if you’re looking to have a little fun on Rebirth Island at least, you may as well try them out and see what damage you can do.

  • Warzone’s Airport wall glitch is back for Season 5 and worse than ever – Dexerto

Warzone’s Airport wall glitch is back for Season 5 and worse than ever ActivisionWarzone has hundreds of landing spots, also called points of interest, where players can drop into Verdansk. One popular POI, Airport is being ruined (yet again) in Season 5 due to a glitch that allows players to get under the map. Glitches have become all too familiar to Warzone players, as each season there tends to be a couple of game-breaking ones at certain drop spots. While there are tons of different POIs in Verdansk, some see a lot more action than others. Airport is one of the largest landing spots in the game, thus creating a lot of chaos. Back in 2020, Airport had an annoying wall exploit that was ruining games, fast forward to Season 5 and there’s a new one that is even worse. Warzone Airport wall glitch allows players under the map The previous wall glitch allowed players to use a cargo truck and merge into a wall near Airport, blasting players without being seen. While this can be quite annoying, there was at least a chance to see where the bullets were coming from and run away, but now that’s not an option in this latest glitch. This Reddit clip posted by ‘MarkC_belfast’ bears bad news for players that love to drop at Airport. There is now an exploit that is allowing players to get under the map and you can’t even figure out where the bullets are coming from. From the clip, you can see that the player has gotten under the map and is roaming around, six feet under, killing a player above them. The community did some digging and the player using this glitch is level 500 with a lot of wins, so it is unlikely that this is a hack but, instead, a bug that people are abusing. This isn’t the first and certainly will not be the last time we see wall glitches but with Season 6 on the horizon, Airport lovers are praying for this one to get fixed as soon as possible.

  • Warzone Zombies ‘black screen’ glitch makes it impossible to see – Dexerto

Warzone Zombies ‘black screen’ glitch makes it impossible to see ActivisionThe Zombie Royale mode in Warzone was barely a few hours old before frustrating glitches and bugs started popping up — and one of them is just giving players a black screen, making it impossible to see or play properly. [jwplayer L7zZP3SQ] Whenever a new update or patch arrives in Warzone, or any game for that matter, there are likely to be some issues, whether it be balancing, servers or something similar. That said, it’s usually something you can gloss over and not worry too much about until the next patch — but this doesn’t quite come under that category. While the map for the new Zombie Royale mode is set at night time, some players are getting a little more darkness than they bargained for. It wasn’t long before players realized that occasionally they would drop into the mode and be plunged into total darkness, with what people are referring to as the “black screen” glitch. As shown in the video below — and from accounts by other players — the screen goes completely black except for the HUD, which doesn’t provide massive help when traversing Verdansk and engaging in gunfights. It essentially gives the players affected no chance of winning their fights, barring some sort of miracle or some incredible callouts from teammates, making it almost impossible to win games. Skip to 1:37 for bug As you can see in the above video, there are a couple of ways to get rid of the black screen, but they’re not exactly helpful. One method is to look through the Spotter Scope, which gives you your vision back and can at least be used to see where you are, and you also lose the black screen bug when you become a zombie, which kind of nullifies the point of the game mode in the first place. It’s unclear what exactly is causing this bug, but expect Infinity Ward to be looking for a fix imminently — with any luck, this problem shouldn’t affect players for too much longer.

  • Warzone YouTuber reveals warmup that helped him raise K/D from 0.5 to 3+ – Dexerto

Warzone YouTuber reveals warmup that helped him raise K/D from 0.5 to 3+ ActivisionA Call of Duty: Warzone YouTuber went from self-proclaimed, 0.5 K/D bot to a 3+ K/D slayer. Now, he’s shared the warmup routine he used to increase his kill-death ratio by so much and start having high-kill games. Look, everyone’s been there. No one starts off being super-talented at a first-person shooter, let alone a battle royale. But it’s all about where you go, not where you start. That was the case for Twitch streamer Art_Is_War, who had never played a Call of Duty game or BR before Warzone. And in the beginning, he was an absolute bot — shamelessly explaining that he had a 0.5 K/D. Now, Art boasts a 3+ weekly K/D and he credits the grind for helping him get there. And the first element of his grind is a simple one that everyone can learn from: a quality warmup routine to make sure he always dropped into Verdansk in peak form. Warzone YouTuber reveals warmup routine to increase K/D Art breaks down that there were four pillars he worked on when trying to improve at Warzone: movement, mechanics, game sense, and gunskill. While his warmup routine might not help with the IQ aspect, it definitely helps the rest. Basically, before hitting the BR, Art makes a custom game to fight against bots in Modern Warfare 2019 multiplayer. The base settings are as follows: Unlimited time, unlimited score, 150 health, no minimap, no killstreaks, max ammo. He uses the Speedball map because it is small, rectangular, and features a variety of cover. And he sets the amount of bots to six and their difficulty to “regular.” After setting up his warmup mode (which he has saved for future use), he jumps in with a Kar98k and MP5. The former is to help him practice centering and the latter is for tracking. Essentially, Art uses this routine to focus on his gunplay (recoil control, centering, flicks) and movement. One he feels like he’s in peak form, sliding for cover and jump-challing efficiently, he knows he’s warmed up and ready for Warzone. Since Warzone is on the MW19 engine, it makes the most sense to warm up there instead of in Black Ops Cold War. If Warzone Pacific shifts the engine to Vanguard’s, he recommends doing a similar routine but on the new game instead.

  • Warzone YouTuber reveals shotgun loadout better than “OP” Double Barrel – Dexerto

Warzone YouTuber reveals shotgun loadout better than “OP” Double Barrel ActivisionWarzone players are constantly finding the best loadout to take over the game, but a YouTuber has revealed a shotgun class that is even better than the high-damage Double Barrel. With over 150 weapons in Warzone, players are discovering new loadouts every day that rise and become the meta. One loadout that has taken the battle royale by storm is the akimbo Double-Barrel shotgun class which works like the snake-shot pistols. This setup allows players to melt enemies in the blink of an eye, but a Warzone fan has found its match in the Einhorn Revolving shotgun. Warzone YouTuber shows shotgun loadout better than Double Barrel YouTuber ‘WhosImmortal’ is a content creator for Warzone and in one of his latest videos, he has built the ultimate shotgun loadout with the Einhorn Revolving. He claims that this shotgun “is a little more broken and under the radar… It is a 2-shot at max.” Here are the attachments he uses: Einhorn Revolving loadout Muzzle: M97 Full Choke – Barrel: Klauser 710mm 02B – Optic: Slate Reflector – Stock: Reisdorf Folding – Underbarrel: SMLE Pistol Grip – Magazine: 12 Gague 5 Round Cylinder – Ammunition: Incendiary – Rear Grip: Fabric Grip – Perk: Sleight of Hand – Perk 2: Fully Loaded – Immortal goes for the M97 Full Choke as well as 12 Gague 5 Round Cylinder with Incendiary rounds as all of these attachments contribute massively to allow this to kill faster than the Double-Barrel. In his gameplay, he shows off the power of the Einhorn by one-shotting multiple enemies as well as still having extra bullets to spare. This shotgun has five bullets while the double only has four at most if you use the akimbo attachment. Another essential part of this loadout is the accuracy and ADS speed of the shotgun. Immortal said that you need to be aiming down sights as that is the most effective way to create the one-bullet kills. While the Double-Barrel continues to pick up speed and will likely be nerfed when the devs return from vacation, you will definitely want to give this shotgun loadout a try.

  • Warzone YouTuber reveals how “fishy” weapon changes are impacting the game – Dexerto

Warzone YouTuber reveals how “fishy” weapon changes are impacting the game ActivisionSecret weapon adjustments appear to be all too common in Warzone, according to detailed breakdowns from popular Call of Duty YouTuber ‘JGOD.’ Despite patch notes accompanying every Warzone update, there are supposedly a good number of tweaks that fly under the radar. From weapon buffs and nerfs to attachment changes that could make your loadouts feel completely different. Why these tweaks are excluded from the overview remains a mystery. Though it could be an increasingly frequent issue as the seasons roll on. No weapons are safe from these stealth updates and some could have already gone unnoticed for weeks. One of the most intricate studies, conducted by JGOD, highlights just how severe some of the latest sneaky updates have been. Here’s how these “fishy” adjustments are impacting Warzone today. The most recent area of focus has been on Barrel attachments. These are intended to help weapons when it comes to bullet velocity and fire rate. Though a recent update has reportedly altered this attachment when it comes to Assault Rifles and Tactical Rifles. Without directly nerfing the weapons themselves, secretly nerfing this attachment feels as real as any proper nerf. “You essentially nerf the weapon even though nothing has changed,” JGOD explained. “The [Barrel] being [powerful] is what made it part of the meta.” For a specific example, the Titanium Barrel “was pretty broken for the AUG and the M16 because of how much it increased the bullet velocity but also increased the fire rate.” With a new wave of secret changes under the hood, the effectiveness of this attachment has now been halved. The Titanium Barrel went from providing the best velocity of any Tac Rifle to being identical with four other Barrels. Given this extreme change that landed in Warzone without being addressed, there could be “a lot of other subtle changes” according to JGOD. FFAR likely changed a few weeks ago, but nobody knew.@TrueGameData tested in December and I Tested Mid January If you look at his new results are basically my results from the Shared Doc w/Bullet Velocities (Jan 16). Probably a lot of fishy changes happening w/o us knowing. pic.twitter.com/zTi0KpSBOq — James – JGOD (@JGODYT) February 6, 2021 In another instance, the base version of the XM4 was recently buffed in Warzone without confirmation from the devs. The velocity of the base weapon was brought in line with every other base AR in the game. Though Barrel attachments still haven’t been tweaked in light of this change. As a result, four of seven Barrells now actually reduce the gun’s power, rather than providing any buffs. You should steer clear of the Reinforced Heavy, Extended, Takedown, and Task Force Barrels for the XM4. How are they going to Buff the XM4 Bullet Velocity, but not touch the barrels. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ Also, Looks like no Change to CW AK47 BV or its Barrels. — James – JGOD (@JGODYT) February 6, 2021 JGOD has asked a number of times for more detailed patch notes, but the devs are yet to respond at this point in time. Perhaps future updates will come with every single tweak if the community demands it. For the time being, however, there will continue to be a number of “fishy changes happening without us knowing.” You can check every secret change with JGOD’s spreadsheet here.

  • Warzone YouTuber reveals how “broken” sliding can be fixed – Dexerto

Warzone YouTuber reveals how “broken” sliding can be fixed ActivisionA Call of Duty: Warzone YouTuber has broken down the game’s sliding and slide-canceling mechanics. And, in doing so, he proves just how broken the movement is and shows why it needs another fix. In an in-depth video, ‘BurterSpeed’ dove into tons of “little” problems with Warzone. And it’s quite interesting, as some of the issues raised wouldn’t occur to the average player. One such example is sliding, which Burter has evidently spent a lot of time dissecting. Unlike the analyst’s concern with the mounting mechanic, the sliding one feels more nuanced. Raven Software have tried to tackle it before, but their efforts were in vain. As Burter shows in his video, the problem with sliding in Warzone is a niche one — but one that actually has large implications. It might not feel super obvious, but it explains a lot of uncomfortable deaths. Warzone sliding broken on different surfaces () In essence, sliding on various places in Warzone is bugged in such a way that you cannot aim downward: “Sliding on slanted surfaces is almost as unpleasant as taking ziplines. As your camera gets locked in such a way that it is impossible to look down.” Burter notes that this was once a bigger issue, but Raven’s attempt to fix it in August basically avoided the root problem. Instead of being able to slide on steeper angles now, your character simply crouches. This is obviously unideal, as sliding down a rooftop would be better for avoiding gunfire than just crouching atop it. Not only are players now prevented from sliding on steep slants now, but the camera lock still exists elsewhere. Burter showed examples of mountains and rooftop edges, where players can’t look downward while sliding. In sum, he asks a simple question to Warzone’s devs: “Is it too much to ask that I never have to worry about a bug that is equivalent to my controller not working after I slide?” It remains unclear why the camera lock bug exists, but we’ll see if Raven address the issue again after their failed August attempt. For now, at least it’s useful to know that sometimes the high ground isn’t as useful an advantage as one would think.

  • Warzone YouTuber reveals “broken” no glint Black Ops Cold War scopes – Dexerto

Warzone YouTuber reveals “broken” no glint Black Ops Cold War scopes ActivisionIn a brand new video, Warzone YouTuber ‘JGOD’ revealed some surprising details about the scopes on Black Ops Cold War weapons, including the fact that certain scopes – which probably should have glint – just simply don’t. When Black Ops Cold War weapons got added to Warzone, as everyone expected, the game changed drastically. Not only did the metagame shift around, but considering all of the BOCW had different attachments from Modern Warfare, players had to learn all the fine-tuned details about each one. Now, one YouTuber has found out some pretty interesting facts about the scopes on Black Ops Cold War weapons – and unless it gets fixed quite soon, it has the potential to change up how the game is going to be played in the future, according to him. According to YouTuber JGOD, who posted a video on the subject recently, some of the scopes that you would expect to have scope glint, don’t. At the same time, some optics that you would not expect to have glint, simply do. Scope glint is a feature that essentially adds a small flash of light to an enemy’s weapon when the player is looking at it from a distance. This helps balance high zoom attachments, helping the player spot enemies that are attempting to snipe them. In the video, players can clearly see that the 2x-4x scope does indeed have glint, which JGOD says is one that “he did not expect”, considering it’s such a low-zoom weapon – as well as the fact that the standard 4x scope doesn’t have glint. Two other surprising scopes that don’t have glint are the 6x optic and the 2x-20x scope on sniper rifles. JGOD says that the fact that the latter doesn’t have glint is “shocking,” considering how far players can zoom in on enemies. It’s currently unknown whether or not the fact that these scopes do/don’t have glint is a bug. It’s hard to imagine that something as high zoom as the 2x-20x doesn’t have a glint, while the 2x-4x does. Here’s hoping Raven addresses this sometime in the future.

  • Warzone YouTuber JGOD reveals how to get easier lobbies without reverse boosting – Dexerto

Warzone YouTuber JGOD reveals how to get easier lobbies without reverse boosting Activision/YouTube: JGODJGOD has become one of the most well-known Warzone YouTubers in the space, with in-depth analysis and data to showcase everything players need to know about the game. Whether it be how certain weapons or attachments work or the best ways to play different rotations, JGOD has a video for just about everything. In the past, he’s spoken a lot about reverse boosting, which has become a popular method for players to manipulate their skill-based matchmaking (SBMM) and get into easier lobbies. With many top streamers accused of doing it, it’s something that most players say shouldn’t be allowed, and that if SBMM is in the game everyone should have to play it fairly. But, of course, if you can get into easier lobbies without having to tank your own Kill/Death ratio, you’ll want to do it — and JGOD knows the best way. It might not exactly be a trick that you can use to manipulate lobbies, but JGOD says in his March 18 video that the time of day you play could be the most important factor. Discussing some research done by another Warzone player, JGOD looks at average KDs and how SBMM can be affected. He provided viewers a graph of the best and worst times to play, in accordance with how strong SBMM is at certain times. “Skill-based matchmaking is at its strictest from 8PM to 2AM and is toned down significantly between 3AM to 7AM local time,” he said. “In the middle of the night you’re going to end up having some really sweaty lobbies, and as it gets towards 7 or 8AM… that is your highest chance of getting into a Bronze, Silver or Gold lobby.” Timestamp 5:48 As JGOD points out, if you’re over a 1.1KD you are part of the top 20% of players and therefore most likely to find yourself in lower-end Diamond or high-end Platinum lobbies (lobby status according to SBMMWarzone). So, it’ll be worth trying to jump on at different times of the day to see when the easier lobbies pop up, but it might mean waking up a couple of hours earlier before school or work to really take advantage.

  • Warzone YouTuber JGOD finds “huge” issue with DLSS settings affecting aim – Dexerto

Warzone YouTuber JGOD finds “huge” issue with DLSS settings affecting aim YouTube: JGOD/ActivisionPopular Warzone YouTuber JGOD has highlighted a pretty big issue with using the new NVIDIA DLSS graphics setting as it can throw off your aim just a bit. Seeing as Warzone has become so massive, there are a handful of content creators out there who dedicate themselves to finding issues that may ruin the game for everybody, as well as showing which weapons work best. JGOD is at the forefront of that, highlighting major issues with the MAC-10 and heartbeat sensors in the past, to name just a few. Now, the YouTuber has shown that there is a pretty noticeable issue with the new NVIDIA DLSS settings on PC that will throw off your aim, even if it does help make your game look nicer and run a whole lot smoother. In his May 15 video, JGOD revealed that by using the ‘balanced’ and ‘quality’ DLSS setting, you may start to notice that your starts don’t actually follow the crosshairs. Instead, with certain attachments like lasers, the gun’s center aiming point becomes where the laser is pointed and the crosshair no longer lines up with the attachment. As he shows with a few shots onto a target, the YouTuber hits to the right of where he was initially aiming. “This is off by a little bit, but at range you would definitely notice this a little bit worse,” he said after showing a few examples. “There’s definitely a misalignment depending on what you use and it’ll go in different directions depending on where you’re at.” Now, this only affects the ‘balanced’ and ‘quality’ parts of DLSS, so if you’re using performance or above, it should be fine. Of course, some players might be locked into the lower settings and that could force a change. Though, it remains to be seen if Raven or NVIDIA will address it soon.

  • Warzone YouTuber JGOD discovers broken attachment giving snipers a buff – Dexerto

Warzone YouTuber JGOD discovers broken attachment giving snipers a buff YouTube: JGOD/ActivisionPopular Warzone YouTube JGOD has revealed that snipers are actually being made stronger in the battle royale thanks to rear grips, especially the Serpent Wrap. With such a wide variety of attachments in Warzone, some players have started relying on others to give them the best build for certain weapons. YouTubers like JGOD go above and beyond when it comes to testing things out, making sure that weapons are working correctly and giving the community feedback on whats happening. Following updates and patches, like the one we got on March 31, the YouTuber has been conducting a few more tests and it seems like snipers are being buffed by rear grips, particularly the Serpent Wrap. In his video, JGOD looked at what’s happening with snipers currently in Warzone, noting that attachment changes have been affecting the way classes are being set up, particularly now the rear grips. The YouTuber revealed that the Serpent Wrap, while having a noticeable Sprint to Fire time, is making the aim down sight of snipers really quick – especially the Pellington and the LW-Tundra. As a result of his testing, JGOD showed that the Tundra, which already one of the most powerful weapons in Warzone, can have a quicker ADS speed than the SPR with the right build. That’s pretty alarming given that the SPR is already super quick. You won’t get Kar98 speeds from either sniper, but the Pellington can get rather close. Now, what does this mean? Well, as the YouTuber notes, it should affect the way classes are being set up, for now at least anyway. Opting for the Serpent Wrap in certain builds allows you to drop another attachment and free up a spot, given the drastic change in ADS speed that it brings. Is it worth using on other weapons? That’s really up to you. JGOD did some testing with the MAC and FFAR but opted for different grips or no grips at all in his classes. But it’s change on the snipers is really noticeable.

  • Warzone YouTuber calls for removal of “pseudo aimbot” mounting mechanic – Dexerto

Warzone YouTuber calls for removal of “pseudo aimbot” mounting mechanic ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone’s engine is beloved by many, but a YouTuber is absolutely sick of one mechanic. With a simple demonstration, ‘BurterSpeed’ showed why mounting is overpowered and shouldn’t be in the game. Like doors, mounting was one of Modern Warfare 2019’s more controversial mechanics. Rather than managing your gun’s recoil solely with your hands, it allows you to use surfaces for additional control. But the problem, per BurterSpeed, is just how much easier guns become once mounted. And, in an extensive video breaking down small changes needed in Warzone, his argument against mounting was as clear as any. A player with over 820 hours in Verdansk, Burter calls mounting a “pseudo aimbot” and shows just how OP it is. In light of that example, he wants it removed or nerfed when Vanguard integration rolls around. Proof that Warzone mounting is overpowered Burter begins by talking about the mechanic’s function and readying to show what’s wrong with it. Confidently, he professes that “explaining why mounting is really dumb is pretty easy.” And, in quick succession, he compares the high-recoil MG82 LMG’s recoil pattern normally against how it looks when mounted. The evidence does turn out to be pretty easy, as the gun’s recoil flies upward in the former case and slowly climbs in the latter. Warzone un-mounted recoil vs mounted recoil As you can see, the recoil patterns differ greatly. And this leads Burter to call mounting a “pseudo aimbot,” given a “50% reduction” in vertical recoil. To put that in context, even the most helpful weapon attachments give lower than 30% vertical recoil control (even while sacrificing other traits). Adding on, Warzone players (and even the devs) often make fun of campers. But, despite that, one can see how mounting is a mechanic that benefits players who stand still over those who move around. While Burter hopes that mounting will be nerfed or changed with Vanguard’s integration, there’s evidence to the contrary. Call of Duty legend Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow has already called Vanguard’s weapon mounting “even more broken” than MW19’s. With detailed YouTube breakdowns and pro player complaints, we’ll see if that feedback is enough for mounting to get nerfed.

The Pacific is home to dogfighting, aerial battles in the azure skies above the majestic isle. That, in its most basic terms, is what you can imagine aerial combat is like in the Pacific. Expect a new machinegun fighter aircraft to add another element of strategy and firepower to your squad’s winning Warzone Pacific tactics. These are also just part of a brand-new set of vehicles for these Vanguard-focused modes; another is an anti-air (AA) truck that provides a solid solution to grounding planes other than launchers, LMGs, stationary AA turrets or taking to the skies yourself. In these modes, only Vanguard weaponry can be used in Loadouts. This limit streamlines the meta, granting new players an opportunity to jump in without facing fully maxed-out loadouts right at launch. It also grants room for experimentation with these new weapons, giving the most hardcore community meta prophets a place to focus on the future for a winning loadout. Good news: Those Operators with previously earned Warzone content can use what they’ve acquired after Vanguard’s integration. In fact, the December 2 integration will follow the same format as when Black Ops Cold War came to Warzone: – All Operators – from Vanguard, Black Ops Cold War, and Modern Warfare – can be used across all of Warzone after the integration, even in the Vanguard playlist. – Your progression – for your Player Level, Battle Pass system, etc. – is synchronized across Vanguard, Black Ops Cold War, Modern Warfare and Warzone Pacific, and the Seasonal Levelling and Prestige System will return. This also means your level will reset to Military Rank 1 within all games, but this only applies to XP; all content you previously unlocked will still be available. – Your personal profile – Calling Card, Emblem, etc. – can be comprised of what you already have in Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare, use what you will earn in Vanguard, or be a combination of anything from those games. – The Store will stock Vanguard Bundles as well as legacy Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare content – all of which can be used in Warzone Pacific. In addition to getting to try out the new weapons and Operators in Vanguard, those who purchase Call of Duty: Vanguard prior to Season One’s official launch will be able to participate in a 24-hour Caldera exclusive access event in Warzone Pacific starting on launch day, December 2. As for Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare weaponry, they still have a place across both of Warzone’s islands… –The Biggest Arsenal in Call of Duty. At the start of Season One, you can use 150+ weapons in Caldera within standard Battle Royale and Plunder modes as well as… –Rebirth Island Returns. The Resurgence continues. Expect the alternate, small-scale map to continue supplementing the main Warzone map. – “Original Warzone Vehicles” Still Cruising. Your pink anime truck isn’t going anywhere. All original vehicles and their Vehicle Skins – including ATVs and other Verdansk-era modes of transport – still exist in these playlists. Warzone is big enough for two islands after all. For those with Warzone experience since integration with Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War, all those 100+ weapons you levelled up and perfected loadouts for can still be used across the many Warzone Pacific playlists. Here are two we can reveal right now: The first are playlists that include Rebirth Island. From Resurgence to Mini Royales and many more surprises to come, Rebirth Island is back to complement the main Warzone Pacific experience. The other is your familiar Battle Royale and Plunder experiences, but taking place on Caldera. Whether it is modern, from the Cold War, or just came with Vanguard, any of the 150+ weapons you have earned or levelled up can be used in the normal playlists. The usual playlists are also home to the “original” vehicles you’ve driven before – ATVs, SUVs, Helicopters, and the like. While the dedicated Vanguard modes will have all new ways to get around Caldera, such as planes and AA Truck, the original vehicle set, as well as any Vehicle Skins you’ve unlocked for them, will still exist in these other playlists.

  • Warzone x Umbrella Academy crossover leaked with new blueprints – Dexerto

Warzone x Umbrella Academy crossover leaked with new blueprints NetflixCall of Duty players are preparing themselves for an unexpected Warzone crossover with Netflix show Umbrella Academy, after details of an upcoming event leaked. This wouldn’t be the first time Activision has signed a deal to bring another major franchise into their first-person shooter, as Diehard, Rambo, King Kong, and Godzilla have all featured in recent seasons. Umbrella Academy – for those who don’t know – is one of Netflix’s most popular shows, and recently released Season 3 this June. It is a story following a number of children who were born with powers, and later adopted by billionaire Sir Reginald Hargreeves, who created the Academy to save the world. While its popularity has once again peaked in 2022, given that the show’s latest list of episodes was released nearly two months previous, CoD players were not expecting a collaboration. But, it appears that’s what they are getting. Warzone Umbrella Academy bundles leaked On July 27, a datamine from a Twitter user called Reality revealed that the show will be doing a crossover with Warzone. According to the leak, included in the event will be a Vanguard exclusive item, two new blueprints, and will give players a chance to unlock a Legendary weapon charm as well. These will be packaged in two different Umbrella Academy Bundles, according to the datamine, with rewards coming “later in Season 5.”

  • Warzone world record smashed with new longest-range sniper shot – Dexerto

Warzone world record smashed with new longest-range sniper shot ActivisionWarzone world records are always a sight to behold and the record for the longest-range snipe has just been smashed thanks to some patience from a few dedicated gaming ‘mythbusters.’ Four months after their initial experiments set the Warzone community on fire, ‘DefendTheHouse’ have returned. While their early sniping tests revealed the longest range possible when hitting a vehicle, the results weren’t quite definitive enough. Due to in-game limitations, bullets could only travel so far back in July. The only way to truly gauge the longest possible shot was to tag a vehicle, rather than an opposing player. However, that’s no longer the case. Thanks to the implementation of custom games in Warzone, even the most extreme tests are possible. It didn’t take long before the longest snipe was set in stone for good. Previously, anything beyond 2,495 metres in the test would simply cut out. The shot would fizzle up in the sky and there would be absolutely no impact. But, thanks to the help of custom games “and 40 human beings,” the content creators could properly test snipers once and for all. With one player set up over at the prison, a huge group of enemies gathered by the dam. Over 3,000 metres separated them but it took some time to get things right. From such a long-range, refining the angle was a challenge in its own right. After plenty of test shots, and even dinging the nearby vehicles a few times, the world record shot finally came through. 3,068.07 metres was recorded by the DefendTheHouse crew. A near 600-metre improvement over their former world record. Obviously, this was done in a custom lobby thanks to the help of the community. The record makes one thing clear though; this distance is possible in a Warzone match now too, as long as your aim and timing are both flawless. It’s worth keeping in mind that while it took four months for this record to change, the new world’s best could be replaced in just a few days. Every weapon from Black Ops Cold War is about to transition into Warzone on December 10. From the Pellington to the M82, perhaps one of the new snipers could trump everything Modern Warfare had to offer.

  • Warzone world record holders reveal top tips to get more wins – Dexerto

Warzone world record holders reveal top tips to get more wins ActivisionThree of the best Call of Duty: Warzone players in the world, with multiple records to their name already, have outlined exactly what you need to do in order to up your game. While the latest hit battle royale has barely been out for a few weeks, a few key players are standing out from the pack and making a name for themselves in Warzone with crazy world record runs. From topping their own trios world record multiple times with 78 kill games, to stand out individual showings with 40+ kills a piece, we sat down with one of the most talented Australian squads to find out the keys behind their success. Introducing the squad Having played numerous battle royale titles at a high level before the release of Warzone, both Lymax and Micka cut their teeth on the likes of H1Z1, Fortnite, and even Blackout to an extent. Zepa fills out the trio as one of the most experienced Australian Call of Duty players, repping the Mindfreak banners in both local tournaments and international Challengers events. All three have a lengthy history with the CoD franchise and find their thousands of hours dedicated to the series is paying dividends in a big way in Warzone. Read More: Warzone easter eggs & secret locations – From niche movement tricks, to overall accuracy, these players are leading the world record charge on the back of their dedication over the past few years. Here’s a rundown on how they approach the game and how everyone can improve too. “We don’t really care about wins or our stats. We just want to set records,” Lymax told Dexerto when asked about what drives them to the top. https://twitter.com/Lymaxx_/status/1245280171654909953 A different approach to dropping in Where you land in Warzone can make or break a potential run. From crowded hotspots with dozens of players to more isolated areas where you can take your time looting, strategies vary from squad to squad. For the world record trio, however, their unique approach has them splitting up from the get-go and dropping into three separate locations – something more players might want to try. “In an ideal scenario, where the plane is heading directly across the center of the map and the zone isn’t an issue, the first spots you want to attack are Zhokov Boneyard, Atlas Superstore, and either TV Station or Storage Town,” Lymax said. “Regardless of the zone or the plane, these are the top three spots we’re always looking to drop,” Zepa added. “You’re splitting the map this way. A lot of the time you may never even see your teammate until the end of the game.” Set a target when you land, grab a loadout “As soon as I land, I’m going for early game kills,” Micka explained. “I think I speak for all of us here, we try to get guns straight off the rip. Try to get as many kills without going to the Gulag and just snowball the game from there.” While that strategy may seem obvious, it’s bar none the most efficient tactic when aiming for high kill games. If your first few gunfights in Verdansk don’t quite go your way, you can quickly back out of the lobby and try again straight away. Once each player has cleared out their first area, there’s a good chance that they have a heap of money already. But what exactly should a squad be looking to purchase before anything else? “Depending on the money I have, I’m realistically trying to buy a loadout,” Zepa said. “I’m trying to get the guns I like. If I still have more money, I’m trying to get a UAV to spot more enemies on the map. With anything leftover, self-res is the next thing I’ll buy so that I can play split from my team with a little less risk.” Best Call of Duty: Warzone loadouts From snipers to shotguns, Modern Warfare’s battle royale provides a great deal of diversity when it comes to loadouts. While teams may have their own unique setups to complement their play style, the record holders are always pushing aggression. Here are the tools they use to rack up the most eliminations. “We’re all the same,” Micka joked. “M4A1 Assault Rifle and MP5 SMG across the board. We’re very aggressive but you can still take a long-range gunfight with these weapons.” “We all run Double Time and Overkill. A few of us run Amped, but I run Battle Hardened so that I don’t get stunned as much,” Lymax explained. The entire squad runs Double Time as it is one of the most crucial perks for high-kill wins in Warzone. In its current form, the perk allows you to close the distance on enemy teams much faster than usual. High risk, high reward The most significant advice the world record holders shared is for teams to “always” be getting into gunfights. Playing safe and playing slow will only get you so far, but if you want to smash world records just like them, “you always have to be farming enemies,” Zepa explained. “You’ve just always got to take the risk. If you die, you die. You have to take the risk. If you kill them, it pays off. If you die, you get bought back in or just start a new game. High risk, high reward.” While bounties can be a decent means of piling up cash in Warzone, they can also “be distracting” according to Micka. “Your money should almost entirely be coming from kills. Bounties just take time away from getting even more kills.” The best ways to clinch outplays When your team closes in on the end-game in Warzone, strategies can change somewhat. Rather than playing split from one another, “you want to be pushing with teammates more than you would in the early-game,” Zepa outlined. “In the end-game specifically, a lot of people are just camping. So you want to clear buildings with your team, not alone. Additionally, Micka highlighted CoD’s unique movement as a factor that players need to master in order to set world records of their own.“Learning the Call of Duty movement would help a lot,” he expressed. Micka added: “There are certain ways to outplay people. You can bunny hop, you can slide cancel around corners. Learning those tricks are essential. You can get the first shots on enemies with those. If you want high kills, you’ve just always got to be moving and abusing Modern Warfare’s movement. “The ability to take out teams 1v3 is crucial,” Lymax added. “You have to know how to outplay entire teams yourself… always want to be pushing, but you need to be smart on the map. You can’t just run down the middle of a street and expect to take out a team. You’ve got to play around cover while pushing them, for instance.” Significant patches may change the price of the most effective items in Warzone, but the general strategy remains consistent, according to the squad. Aggression is key if you want high-kill wins and sending out UAVs is a great way to get the jump on opponents. Years of experience on the sticks with the CoD franchise obviously helps as well, but anyone can up their game thanks to these tactics — whether you can claim the trio’s world record is another matter, but there’s no harm in trying! April 1 Update at 10:30 AM PST The trio of Lymaax, Micka, and Zepa have once again broken their world record for kills in a single match. The numbers in the article have been updated to reflect the change.

  • Warzone “Whitelist” error appears and players are confused – Dexerto

Warzone “Whitelist” error appears and players are confused ActivisionA Call of Duty: Warzone “Whitelist” error has begun popping up and players are very confused. With concerns already rampant about whitelisted hackers and streamers, the new in-game bug is earning some intrigue. A number of Warzone players have been unable to log into the game the week of the mid-season update. When trying to enter, they’re blocked and met with a new error: “Whitelist Failure.” In the past, whitelists have been a hot topic as fans believe that streamers are put in groups that allow them to not get banned or to get into easier lobbies. As such, it’s likely no surprise that this new error is causing speculation. While some are taking this issue as proof that streamer whitelists do exist, others have pushed back against that narrative. Warzone “Whitelist Error” confuses players trying to log on BREAKING – A new error that mentions “”WHITELIST FAILURE”” is appearing for players attempting to play #Warzone. pic.twitter.com/yLqtpnTPeB — ModernWarzone (@ModernWarzone) January 13, 2022 As you can see in the embedded tweet, the “Whitelist Failure” error doesn’t allow players to sign into Warzone. Its specific code is XX-1036F. In the replies, a number of users suggested this new problem is evidence of earlier “conspiracy theories” surrounding streamer privileges. One user emphatically responded with “CHEATING STREAMER WHITELIST CONFIRMED” (to the delight of 44 Twitter likes), while another asked if this means that “badboybeamin was right?” That question refers to a popular (and divisive) hack accuser, who has argued that streamers cheat and are protected by Activision via whitelists. However, others—like the reputable CharlieIntel—have suggested this error is not related to those suspicions. All players have to be “whitelisted” to be allowed on the servers. It seems like some people in certain regions were kicked out with the new update. And there’s features like this for custom tournaments. — CharlieIntel (@charlieINTEL) January 13, 2022 In CI’s tweet, it’s explained that all Warzone players are actually whitelisted “to be allowed on the servers.” This issue, therefore, appears to be a bug that caused gamers in certain regions to be knocked out of said lists. Thus far, the region most impacted by the error seems to be Europe. Further, it doesn’t appear that any North American accounts have been affected. News of the universal whitelist is novel for players, but many have known that a system is in place to whitelist players involved in private tournaments (like the World Series of Warzone). Regardless, fans seem to be monitoring this new error with sharp eyes and we’ll keep abreast of any updates.

  • Warzone: Where to find Krampus in Urzikstan – Dexerto

Warzone: Where to find Krampus in Urzikstan ActivisionKrampus has appeared in Warzone in the past, ruining the holiday spirit due to being completely overpowered. He returns this Christmas, but not in the way you’d expect. Here’s all you need to know. Krampus’ introduction in COD Vanguard and Warzone’s Festive Fervor event was borderline nightmarish. Soon after it arrived, players flooded the forums with complaints, and rightfully so, as the Christmas monstrosity would ruin Warzone and multiplayer matches. As mentioned, Krampus arrived in Vanguard, Sledgehammer Games’ last Call of Duty title. It’s been MIA since, but with Sledgehammer delivering Modern Warfare 3, the question arose: would the studio be brave enough to bring him back?” Certainly not, right? Believe it or not, Krampus is in Warzone, but not in the capacity you’d think. Here’s how to find the monster in Urzisktan. Where to find Krampus in Urzikstan The first thing you’ll want to do is make your way to the location on the map above, between Warzone POIs Urzikstan Cargo and Old Town. If you make it there safely, you’ll find a little burial spot on the shoreline with an arm sticking out. That arm belongs to Krampus, as the creature has seemingly been buried in a landslide. Good riddance, right? Funnily enough, you can interact with the arm. Once you do, it’ll start twitching and fill your screen with a familiar blast that says: “Krampus is hunting you.” The blast continues: “Hunt canceled. Krampus under crate.” The message will fade away, and then it gets even creepier. The arm will twitch faster, and a voice menacingly says: “He’ll return.” Completing this will gift you the “He Haunts You” calling card, a bit of foreshadowing it seems. So, his appearance in Warzone is different than what it has been, but it’s a neat easter egg serving as an ode to the days of old. In Vanguard/Warzone, when Krampus arrived, your screen would show the first part of the previous message, before he proceeded to chase you down and beat the Christmas spirit out of you. Krampus will most likely be back in Warzone and Call of Duty at some point in the Christmas future. Hopefully, a bit more balanced. That’s everything you need to know about where to find Krampus in Warzone’s Urzikstan map. Check out the rest of our COD coverage for more tips and tricks to get ahead of the competition. • Warzone weapons will hold 10 attachments on WW2 guns from Vanguard integration – Dexerto

Warzone weapons will hold 10 attachments on WW2 guns from Vanguard integration ActivisionCall of Duty: Vanguard weapons will have 10 attachment slots when they’re added to Warzone, giving players huge amounts of customization. After months of rumors, players have now discovered that Vanguard’s weapons will offer greater levels of customization. In fact, CoD Vanguard weapons will feature a maximum of 10 weapon attachments when they are integrated into Warzone. While Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War guns only have five attachment slots, Vanguard weapons have doubled this feature. This was discovered after both the STG 44 and M1 Garand were added to the game as part of the Season 6 update. While they can’t actually be unlocked or used, that hasn’t stopped players from taking a look at the attachments. Vanguard weapons have 10 attachments in Warzone Vanguard’s Warzone integration has been a hot topic in the Call of Duty community ever since the game was announced. The main concerns have been around how the WW2 weapons would be balanced. However, the unexpected arrival of both the STG 44 and M1 Garand have quickly given players a big surprise. Not only does it appear that these guns have been released early, but many content creators quickly noted that both Vanguard weapons could hold 10 attachments — five more than current Warzone weapons. Aside from the usual Muzzle and Barrel attachments, JGOD showed off how Vanguard weapons can even select up to two perks – giving players a total of 10 attachments. 10 Attachment Create a Class in Warzone Confirmed with Vanguard Integration. Thoughts? pic.twitter.com/YPexUyDnpN — James – JGOD (@JGODYT) October 7, 2021 Unlike Modern Warfare and Cold War guns, Vanguard’s weapons have even greater customization options when it comes to building the best loadout. Whether Warzone’s existing guns will enable the use of extra attachments remains to be seen, but it certainly poses a question on how the developers will be balancing the game going forward. Of course, anything can change in development and we’ll likely hear more about Vanguard’s weapon integration in the weeks to come.

  • Warzone watches will expose you through walls to enemies – Dexerto

Warzone watches will expose you through walls to enemies ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players have discovered that wearing certain watches in-game will make it possible for them to be seen through walls and other spots, handing their enemies an advantage. [jwplayer RexLZ1JW] Since Warzone was released back in March, players have been trying to find different ways to get a leg up over their opponents so that they can keep racking up win after win. Some players will keep it simple and rock an overpowered weapon loadout, while others dive into cheats – even though some have been punished for their hacks. Though, due to a number of bugs and different issues in-game, the game itself will sometimes give players a helping hand. Previously, players could see enemy movement through doors and walls by aiming near where they assumed the enemies were hidden. Now though, there is another problem, and it revolves around two watches. The unusual problem was pointed out by Reddit user Khurlauss, who shared a clip of himself showing that the Strange Magic and Time of the Season watches can be seen through walls. Why this happens seems to stem from the fact that they aren’t a typical watch. Instead, they display the time through orange and green glows that float just away from a player’s body. The Redditor showed just how big of an advantage it gives Warzone players by replaying a clip of himself in the Gulag. As he ran towards the center, the glow of the enemy’s watch quickly shone behind the wall. It might have only been a small speck on the screen, but it is noticeable and allowed the Redditor to outplay his opponent for the win. As of writing, the issue has not been highlighted on Infinity Ward’s public Trello board, so it’s unknown as to whether or not they are aware of it. Given that the next Warzone season – the first in Black Ops Cold War – is set to start in mid-December, players will want as clean a slate as possible, and that includes fixing the watches.

  • Strange Warzone wall glitch lets players levitate away from danger – Dexerto

Strange Warzone wall glitch lets players levitate away from danger Activision BlizzardA Call of Duty: Warzone player captured footage of a wall glitch that allowed their target to magically float away. Like countless other live-service experiences, Call of Duty: Warzone plays host to its fair share of bizarre gameplay glitches. One recent bug that made the rounds saw deceased players return for the victory screen. Another, more annoying error that rears its head every so often freezes users in place after they land on the map. But even the smaller hiccups can prove frustrating, especially if they provide one combatant with an advantage over another. Weird Warzone glitch causes player to levitate in over a wall Recently, Just-m-a took to the Warzone subreddit to share a gameplay clip of a weird in-game bug involving a floating player. In the clip, Just-m-a rounds a wall to take out an enemy combatant lying prone in the grass. It seems an easy kill at first, yet quickly proves to be anything but. Within seconds the prone player begins levitating, then floats over the stone wall out of reach. They vanish by the time the Redditor makes it back around to the other side of the barrier. It’s all very peculiar, but other Warzone veterans in the thread explained away concerns about the strange wall glitch. Users tuiasi, PsydeFX1, and Maedhros_ all noted that the issue looks to be a simple case of “severe server desync.” It’s possible, then, that countless regular Call of Duty: Warzone players have encountered similar instances of randomly levitating opponents. While Warzone continues to dominate, Call of Duty fans will soon have another version of the battle royale experience to explore. Warzone 2 is scheduled to release this fall on November 16 for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.

  • Warzone vs Apex Legends: Why it’s the perfect time to switch to Apex – Dexerto

Warzone vs Apex Legends: Why it’s the perfect time to switch to Apex Activision / EACall of Duty is a much bigger franchise than Apex Legends, of that there is no doubt. Activision’s games are the best-selling in the first-person shooter genre and Infinity Ward turned Warzone into a huge success with Modern Warfare, but there’s probably no better time to jump ship. 2020 was a landmark year for CoD. Warzone released in March and undoubtedly increased the franchise’s appeal to casual gamers, people who may not have bothered to buy the last few Call of Duty titles. Every big streamer in the world was jumping into Verdansk – from Dr Disrespect to NICKMERCS – and the hype around the game was off the charts. Successes were recorded and will go down in history for the developers, with over 75 million downloads reported by Statista in August of that year. In the months that have proceeded the Black Ops Cold War integration, which kicked off in December 2020, it’s taken a tumble to say the least. Just when you thought cheating problems would be over, it’s rife. Just when you thought hit registration issues were gone, they’re back. This begs the question, really, and that’s why do players keep coming back to a broken experience? Warzone’s current pitfalls Now, some players might tell you that there isn’t anything out there like Warzone, in terms of a big map experience and 150 people jumping in each time. That’s true. The Gulag was a unique creation that no other battle royale game had experimented with, and people loved it at first. The loadouts aspect of the game was classic Call of Duty as well, building your own class to take into battle. It would be easy to list the unique features the game has for days on end, but there are some glaring issues that you just don’t have to live with in other games – like Apex Legends. Activision has had its time now to implement an anti-cheat that is capable of protecting the integrity of matches, but they’re still coming up short. The developers have blasted away cheaters in rounds of tens, hundreds, and thousands, but it’s almost turning into a game of Zombies. These hackers make new accounts and come piling back into the game, in greater numbers. There’s been no definitive win with the current system, and there might never be. Apex keeps things fresh Put the cheating to the side – which is a massive issue, yet one everybody is aware of nonetheless – there’s a few things in Respawn Entertainment’s game that are unrivaled. You will see a constant flurry of map changes in the game, whether that be on a season-by-season basis, or packaged in with the Town Takeovers that occur routinely. On a monthly basis, we have seen constant additions of in-game events for the community to enjoy. Next up is the Season 8 Anniversary Collection event – for example. These usually include the aforementioned Town Takeover – where one Legend is given a themed section of the map – and limited-time modes (LTMs) that are always fun to play. When you consider all of that, on top of the in-game daily challenges and new quests, Warzone looks stale in comparison. There’s unique playing styles based on the Legend you pick, three equally popular maps to be in rotation (Kings Canyon, World’s Edge, Olympus), and also different skill levels needed for certain guns. Aside from that, there’s some more basic upgrades to highlight. Apex Legends makes dropping in so much better First of all, Apex Legends has an advantage in one of the most basic features, and that’s diving into the action when a game starts. Nobody knows where the final circle will end up before hitting the floor. This is a highly requested feature for Warzone players, and certainly would improve how players are spread across the map in the early stages of a game. On top of that, the team also has the option to land together. This is useful for a number of reasons, as it can keep your teammates closer together, avoid the need for all three players to be aware of where’s been marked on the map, and gives the leader of your squad more influence. This might not be as highly requested a feature as changes to the first ring, but is certainly a useful tool for ensuring the less skilled teammates – shall we say – don’t go missing. Superior looting system Secondly, the looting system is on another level. Apex Legends is onto a serious winner with this, as the color-coding method for weapons, ammo types, and rarities of other items make building your loadout a very easy process. You’re also not having to press the same button multiple times to pick something up, which is a clunky issue Warzone players have to deal with. Looting can be done at a fast pace on the floor or from loot bins, and the frustrating spillage of loot when a player dies in Warzone is non-existent here. Everything is tucked away in a Death Box, which has the contents of everything the slain enemy had on their person before elimination. Again, it cuts out the annoying process of clicking things multiple times to pick up the item you want. Apex Legends Ranked Mode and competitive The last point to make is that there’s a dedicated Ranked mode. In Ranked, players can grind their way through the different competitive tiers, ranging from Bronze to Apex Predator. This is something that fans of Warzone have sought after for a long period of time now. There’s also higher skill ceiling in Apex Legends. Much of the weapons inside the game have distinct features that set them apart from others in the loot pool. In Warzone, you could pick up a number of SMGs and ARs and not realize their differences, as they’re so minor. With the quirks of each gun in the Outlands comes a different way to play, meaning you might become a medium/high skilled player with one of the older guns like the Flatline, but then struggle with a new 30-30 Repeater Rifle. Read More: How to master the Volt SMG in Apex Legends – There aren’t many weapons that are overpowered in Apex, so in that sense, there is also more balance. It’s never had a DMR or Mac-10 problem, for example, where everybody runs around with the same gun because it’s better than the rest. Players in this game need to hone their abilities with the one weapon or Legend to get better, rather than build a ready-to-go class, call in a loadout and guarantee your gun is better (potentially) than your opponent. In that hypothetical scenario, we’re also not factoring in that the enemy could well be a hacker, which is all the more likely given the lack of a serious anti-cheat. To conclude, there’s a slim possibility that Activision does get it right and make a few changes in the coming seasons to improve the experience. But in the meantime, Apex Legends is certainly a step up. What’s not to love about Legends with different abilities, new content routinely with fresh characters and map changes, not to mention the upgrades on features already found in Warzone. If you’re tired of Warzone or thinking it’s becoming a bit stale, like many others, now is a perfect time to make the switch.

  • Warzone vs Apex Legends: War is on as NICKMERCS, TimTheTatman & CouRage switch games – Dexerto

Warzone vs Apex Legends: War is on as NICKMERCS, TimTheTatman & CouRage switch games TimTheTatman / FaZe ClanApex Legends is starting to see some huge streamers return to the game ahead of its Season 10 update this August, but a lot of that comes down to the current state of Warzone. The game’s next major patch is stacked with fresh content, whether it be the new Legend, Seer, buffs and nerfs for its roster of characters, or map changes. There’s going to be a lot for Apex fans to sink their teeth into, of that there is no doubt. Conversely, there is a strong feeling of stagnation surrounding one of its biggest rival games in the battle royale space, and that’s Call of Duty: Warzone. After a rather uninspiring Season 4 launch, which didn’t come close to its predecessor’s Nuke Event – not to mention the hacker problem that plagues the game – it feels a bit like a broken car in its current form. A fresh lick of paint won’t be enough for some people, either. Now, some of the biggest streamers around are starting to turn their attention to other things, and Apex Legends looks to be the biggest beneficiary of its shortcomings. NICKMERCS slowing down on Warzone Let’s start with NICKMERCS – who has built up an extraordinary community from his involvement with Warzone. They keep coming back for his tips, best loadouts, and opinions on a seasonal basis. From a business point of view, he would probably love nothing more than for Warzone to be knocking it out of the park. While he’s not completely abandoned CoD, he’s starting to play a lot more Apex Legends. In fact, he was streaming it live as I was writing this article. Just recently, the FaZe Clan creator picked three things that desperately need to change in Warzone – the map, FOV slider, and that there’s a lot of work to be done on glitches. He said: “I think we need a brand new map, we need a change from Verdansk. I think it was a swing and a miss. I thought at first that it might have some sauce, some flavor…but ultimately, I don’t think we’re messing with this stuff. I want an island theme with beaches, ocean, palm trees, and jungle. That’s what I want.” Read More: How to impove your K/D in Warzone – Whether or not he’ll come rushing back for a future update remains to be seen, but based on these comments, he’s holding out for wholesale changes. Let’s face it, he’s not wrong. TimTheTatman on Apex Legends Next up, TimTheTatman – who has over 6.8 million followers on Twitch. This case is a little different to NICKMERCS, who’s enjoying the grind of Apex on stream, as Tim has explicitly stated that ideally he wouldn’t be jumping into Respawn’s game at all. During a broadcast on July 27, he said: “Right, let’s put me into Apex bro. Man, you know Warzone’s in a tough spot if I’m playing Apex. “Gosh man, I can’t even remember what to do here bro,” he said, before looking through the controls. He hadn’t played it in so long. Back in May, only two months ago, Tim actually pointed out some areas where Apex Legends falls short of Warzone and even Fortnite. “I’m just going to flat out tell you why I don’t personally enjoy Apex that much,” he told his stream while deliberating over its ranking. “One: The time-to-kill (TTK). The time-to-kill is very high. Obviously, I’m playing Warzone right now, so I’m very used to Warzone.” He continued: “Another thing that I don’t enjoy is the armor system. What I mean by that is that I don’t like that you can have gold armor, I can rip your gold armor, and then you can swap out for another gold armor and you have full armor again.” CouRage One of Tim’s close friends, Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop has also been experimenting with the Legend-based multiplayer game, and Fortnite. For a long time now, CouRage has been critical of CoD’s battle royale title. Back in February, he said was “sick” of the constant issues with hacking and glitchy gameplay, as much as he’d like to enjoy it. He said that his “attention span for Warzone and ability to play it is at an all-time low.” Timestamp at 10:30 below. “The reason why I stopped playing with Nick, Tim, and Cloak is because I’m sick of that game,” he continued. “I love Warzone, but I also hate it. We either get cheated against, then we have stream snipers coming after us. There’s the stim glitch for the seventh time.” While there have been multiple updates since that time, including Season 4 and Season 4: Reloaded, it appears the streamer is still not fully convinced. Twitch stats: Warzone vs Apex Legends At the time of writing, Apex Legends has 180,000 viewers on Twitch – compared to Warzone’s 133,000. The margin isn’t a lot in the grand scheme of things, but it is a NICKMERCS shaped hole in CoD viewership. According to Newzoo, a website that records Twitch viewership stats, Warzone racked up a total of 92.3 million views in June – compared to 47.7 million of Apex. With so many streamers giving other titles a try, it should be interesting to see if those figures change between July and August, depending on how future updates shape up for each of them. Read More: Apex Legends Season 10 Emergence patch notes – So stats-wise, Activision’s offering seems to be dominating, but the common denominator here is that if it was down to these streamers, there wouldn’t be a debate about which is better: Apex Legends or Warzone? The latter would win hands-down, but the fact of the matter is – in its current state – there are too many issues for them to dedicate themselves to it, and that’s a sentiment much of the community will share. Warzone might be on top for now, but only time will tell if this is a serious shift or a blip.

  • Warzone villain TeeP reveals disrespectful new tactic to make enemies log out – Dexerto

Warzone villain TeeP reveals disrespectful new tactic to make enemies log out Twitter, @TylerTeeP / ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players like trolling almost as much as they like winning, so popular Twitch streamer and former pro player ‘TeeP’ has combined the two… and his new tactic is making his opponents quit their matches. So, Tyler ‘TeePee’ Polchow is good at Call of Duty — this is known. A former pro player and caster, the man’s got a history on the sticks and his Warzone streaming career has been far from shabby, as well. One of Warzone’s top 25 highest earners, TeeP is naturally a menace in public lobbies – but he’s decided to take things a step (or, to be more literal, a few laps) further. During his recent Verdansk sessions, TeeP revealed a new preferred tactic for outdueling the final player for a victory. And it’s brutal – he literally just throws stuns and then runs laps around the enemy until they land shots or, more often than not, quit the game in frustration. Nah @TylerTeeP is really a Warzone villain 😭pic.twitter.com/Ygb21TTnEv — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) September 8, 2021 As you see in the clip, TeeP is not a merciful Warzone player. He tells his teammates his plan when there’s just one player left: “I’m gonna double stun ‘em and then just do laps.” A moment later, he’s descended on the opponent and has run three full laps around the stunned foe while they try to shoot their gun in vain. At the fourth lap, the victim literally calls it quits — leaving the match and granting TeeP’s team a victory. My new thing is doing laps around the last guy they always back out 🙁 pic.twitter.com/OsBWs7OidK — TeeP (@TylerTeeP) September 8, 2021 When TeeP shared this new tactic to Twitter, he was very candid about this behavior: “My new thing is doing laps around the last guy.” And, with a touch of sadness, he explained that “they always back out.” It remains unclear how many players have quit out of Warzone matches due to TeeP’s villainous strategies or how many have gone a step further and uninstalled. Whatever those numbers may be, it is very clear that — if you want to troll your enemies — this is arguably the most effective way to do so.

  • Warzone victory bug takes out annoying cutscene and players love it – Dexerto

Warzone victory bug takes out annoying cutscene and players love it ActivisionA bug in Call of Duty: Warzone has removed the “helicopter” cutscene after getting a victory, instead playing a ‘Last Kill’ cam. The bug has been described as a blessing though, with players preferring the glitched version over the original. The reward for a Warzone victory is a ton of XP to your name and a clever cutscene that mimics a movie credit with the names of players from that lobby. It’s a fine way to end a game before loading up the next match but anticlimactic for being the last remaining team. This is where some players think Warzone can turn to its Call of Duty roots with a simple kill cam to switch it up from what people are already used to. To Reddit user Don_Pakundo’s surprise, their game-winning moment wasn’t accompanied by the same old cutscene. “It must be [a glitch],” they said. “The screen went black for a minute or two before it took us back to the lobby. I’ve never seen in any of my 749 wins before that. Maybe it’s some bonus for win #750? I don’t know.” Instead of playing out the final cutscene, a Warzone bug replayed the last frag for everyone in the player’s team to see. Read more: What is Warzone Visions of Verdansk? – This instantly drew shocked reactions from the squad when they saw the alternate ending. There was a sense of bewilderment from the bug but also a ton of hype when they got to relive the winning moment. Other than the kill cam, there wasn’t anything particularly special about the ending. Still, Warzone community members agreed that this was an overall improvement to what we already have. “Hopefully this is an early test or accidentally triggered already implemented code for what’s coming in the Vanguard WZ update,” one person said. “I’d much prefer this.” How Warzone will change when Vanguard comes out remains to be seen. But if this is an experimental change then players are already loving it.

  • Warzone vehicles return to Rebirth Island with “invisible wall” glitch – Dexerto

Warzone vehicles return to Rebirth Island with “invisible wall” glitch ActivisionFollowing Warzone’s April 13 update, which saw vehicles reintroduced on Rebirth Island, players have encountered a new “invisible wall” glitch in the Payload playlist. The April 13 update hit the game early on in the day with small bug fixes and additions into the game. One of the things that it reintroduced was vehicles across the Rebirth Island map. This means vehicles are also back in the Payload playlist as a result. Despite fans jumping back into the mode right away, they were immediately met with a new issue. There’s no telling exactly how this new invisible wall glitch occurred. Though one thing is for certain., it will make Warzone players sick to their stomach if it occurs to them like in the Reddit clip. New “invisible wall” glitch on Rebirth Island In the clip, the players struggle to get hitmarkers or any sort of register when shooting at an enemy player. It truly does seem as though there is an invisible wall in-between him and the enemy. All this is happening while he is riding in the back of a vehicle. In the comments, one reply suggested that the glitch is still there from when Payload was on Verdansk. While others suggest that it does not only happen from the inside of the truck shooting outside, but also from the outside of the truck trying to shoot inside. The Warzone community is already used to bugs relating to hit-reg and invisible walls. However, one could argue that it’s not ideal for it to be just hours after the new patch is released reintroducing vehicles back in Warzone. Raven Software has yet to comment on the issue. There are bound to be further information and updates regarding the glitch as Season 3 is just around the corner.

  • Warzone vehicles can now kill players through rocks in overpowered glitch – Dexerto

Warzone vehicles can now kill players through rocks in overpowered glitch ActivisionYou would think a giant rock would be the perfect cover, but one unlucky Warzone player was hilariously deceived. Warzone has a troubled history of glitches. Some issues are harmless, but others severely hinder player experiences. A bug revived an entire lobby for the victory cutscene, resulting in a funny visual. On a more serious note, yet still laughable, a bizarre bug deployed an entire lobby in space and then killed them in the gas. The battle royale’s latest blunder features a chase scene straight out of a cartoon episode, culminating unexpectedly. Warzone player mocks Warzone physics A Warzone player shared a video clip of a jeep circling them. They thought they were safe behind a rock, but the Jeep drove straight into the rock and killed them despite being covered. The Killcam hilariously shows the Jeep ramming the rock and sending the player flinging backward. Rightfully frustrated, the user created a thread titled “gotta love the physics in Warzone.” One player questioned the bug victim and responded, “da*n, that sucks, but don’t forget to use your thermite though.” Another user didn’t know how to react, stating, “I wouldn’t even know what to think, I’d just sit there like wtf just happened.” A Warzone veteran, all too familiar with this issue, shared, “This used to be every vehicle interaction in the early seasons. They made it loads better, but you never know 100% if you’re actually protected by the cover.” Next time you may have to think twice before taking cover behind a rock on Caldera. Equipping an anti-vehicle lethal grenade may also be a good idea as well.

  • Warzone vehicles are making players rage hard in Rebirth Island’s Prison Block – Dexerto

Warzone vehicles are making players rage hard in Rebirth Island’s Prison Block ActivisionVehicles are a potent way to dispatch enemies in Warzone but they’re not something you’d expect to see inside of a building. That’s exactly what happened here though as one streamer snuck a quad into a central building of Rebirth Island. Rebirth is the high-octane younger sibling of Warzone’s traditional battle royale mode. The map is designed to keep the engagement high so that the action doesn’t end until the game does. While games in this mode can often be fast-paced and intense, one player has found the ultimate way to tilt opponents while making the game a breeze for himself. Warzone vehicles take over Prison Block in Rebirth Island Timmy2Cans is notorious for sneaking Warzone vehicles into places where they don’t belong and Rebirth Island is particularly ripe for those kinds of shenanigans. After smuggling an ATV into the prison in the center of the map, the infamous TikToker received some fiery reactions from the people he chased down. One opposing squad member went so far as to say that Timmy is cheating and warned him about a possible suspension: “You’re getting reported.” Another enemy could be heard expressing his disbelief that the quad could even fit through doorways after getting taken out on the stairs: “No f***ing way you get in there!” Ultimately though the streamer got a taste of his own medicine when someone in the lobby turned on the actual cheats and took his very own quad to the sky. After a couple of attempts at dancing out of the way, 2Cans ends up getting squashed into the ground and sent back to the respawn screen the same way he did to so many others.

  • Warzone & Vanguard Season 3 cinematic teases Godzilla crossover – Dexerto

Warzone & Vanguard Season 3 cinematic teases Godzilla crossover ActivisionA new Warzone Season 3 cinematic is taking the community by storm for possibly teasing a long-awaited Godzilla crossover that could finally be on its way. Raven Software have been ironing out bug fixes and gameplay updates after the April 13 patch which reintroduced vehicles to Rebirth Island and made crucial adjustments for the Bizon. As the devs continue to implement improvements for Warzone, we’re already getting a glimpse at what may come to Caldera in the next season. On April 13, Call of Duty fans got their first look at Season 3 with a cryptic cinematic trailer that could finally give way to the long-awaited Godzilla crossover event. Season 3 cinematic teasing a Godzilla crossover? https://twitter.com/CallofDuty/status/1514287673543995394 The new Warzone Season 3 trailer gave fans a fun cinematic, but the biggest tease came just before it ended. Though a Godzilla crossover has yet to be confirmed, people are convinced that the sights and sounds in the cinematic point to an imminent release. Throughout the video, we see references to Nebula nuclear weapons and the dangers they present. Then it ends with chilling audio from “something far more powerful and fearsome than anything we could ever hope to comprehend.” Viewers were treated to the roars and howls of an unknown creature that was apparently “shaken awake” from nuclear activity, a heavy reference to Godzilla’s classic origins. The Godzilla crossover, if true, could bring in a lot of new and returning players to Warzone to see the major collab for themselves. Whether it’s Godzilla camos or missions related to the kaiju, it should bring a unique flavor to Warzone. Raven have yet to reveal anything concrete about Warzone Godzilla update, but we’re bound to find out more in the coming weeks the closer we get to Season 3.

The party is kicked off by the M1916 Marksman Rifle, a powerful semi-auto rifle with two-shot kill potential, that is favored by the season’s new Operator Mateo Hernandez. Following that up is the automatic Nikita AVT Assault Rifle, which comes with the “best-in-class” fire rate distinction that makes it viable as both an AR and SMG alternative. M1916 Marksman Rifle As the first weapon available, players will unlock this gun at Tier 15. This means unlocking the Premium track will grant you automatic access to this high-powered machine. Nikita AVT Assault Rifle The second weapon isn’t available until Tier 31, so you’ll have to do a bit of grinding to get your hands on it no matter which version of the pass you buy. Weapon Blueprints in the Season 3 Battle Pass While a ton of new Blueprints are coming in Season 3, not all of them have been revealed just yet. This is described as a mind-to-long engagement monster, it works similarly to the NZ-41 but has a fire rate of 600 RPM. Next, is the Whitley LMG at Tier 31 of the pass. With an insane fire rate and bullet capacity, the Whitley has “great potential across Vanguard and Warzone.” Warzone & Vanguard Season 2 Battle Pass: New multiplayer Killstreak, Perks, & Lethal Grenade Starting at Tier 1 players can unlock the Ball Turret Gunner killstreak. This is earned by rallying off 12 kills in a row and can be extremely deadly. Free at Tier 21 players unlock a new useful perk, Mechanic. This makes Field Upgrades charge 20% faster than the normal speed. This can be viable for players that are looking to get Dead Silence, Dead Drop, and others really quick. This isn’t the only perk that players can get their hands on as Tier 44 introduces Armory. This perk is a counter to Engineer as it makes your stuff immune to the perk and can’t be hijacked or viewed through walls. It also lets you use equipment faster Finally, the classic Semtex Grenade is unlocked at Tier 39. The sticky bomb has been a staple in CoD for many years and will now take the battlefield of Vanguard. It can be thrown like other lethal and will kill someone if it directly impacts them. • Warzone & Vanguard players relieved to learn hacker-filled Beta isn’t using new anti-cheat – Dexerto

Warzone & Vanguard players relieved to learn hacker-filled Beta isn’t using new anti-cheat ActivisionCall of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone players alike have been a little freaked out by the amount of hackers overrunning Vanguard’s Beta — but there’s some good news. As shared by a reputable insider, the actual anti-cheat hasn’t been deployed yet. The CoD hacking situation is a fiery one. While the franchise’s titles were relatively unscathed in earlier years, the transition to crossplay with PC has meant a lot more hackers, most notably impacting the Warzone community and CDL Challengers. So there’s a lot riding on Vanguard’s release, since it’s supposed to bring a new anti-cheat that CoD’s devs are very, very confident in. But Vanguard’s Beta is here and there has been no dropoff in hackers, leaving many concerned that the anti-cheat is not living up to its hype. Cue insider Tom Henderson, who comforted everyone and spilled the beans: no, the Beta isn’t using the upcoming anti-cheat. For those wondering why there’s so many hackers in the #Vanguard Beta, it’s because the Beta is using the exact same anti-cheat as Warzone (which has been compromised). New anti-cheat will be coming once Vanguard releases, but it’s definitely concerning seeing so many hackers. — Tom Henderson (@_Tom_Henderson_) September 20, 2021 As Henderson explains, the Vanguard Beta isn’t using the new anti-cheat. Instead, it’s still on Warzone’s system, which unfortunately “has been compromised” (to put it lightly). While many remain skeptical about the upcoming security system, there’s still some optimism and generally seems to be some relief that Vanguard’s anti-cheat isn’t the one getting torched during the Beta. There are a lot of hackers and that’s not ideal, but it would be even worse if the new anti-cheat had been cracked that quickly. So this is a good news and bad news situation — the good news: there’s still hope for Vanguard’s anti-cheat, the bad news: man, cheaters have had a field day with the current security measures. Wait this cheater had walls in the Vanguard Beta and when we called him out he made the whole game end. I’m actually mindblowd! pic.twitter.com/2rz9ARSOVd — EasyStomps (@EasyStomps) September 19, 2021 So far, the hacker situation in Warzone and the Vanguard Beta has continued to be a mess. The latter has only existed for a couple weeks, but hackers are already ending games on a whim and selling cheats at absurdly cheap prices. But, sometimes you’ve got to look on the bright side. It’s annoying that there are hackers running rampant and that an effective anti-cheat isn’t already available, but at least we’ll be moving on from this compromised anti-cheat for a new (and hopefully better) one in November.

  • Warzone & Vanguard players furious as new Armaguerra SMG camo progression is broken – Dexerto

Warzone & Vanguard players furious as new Armaguerra SMG camo progression is broken ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard players are extremely frustrated with Activision as the new Armaguerra 43 SMG isn’t tracking its camo progression properly. Vanguard has been a nightmare for people that have been grinding for Atomic camo. Ever since its November 2021 release, players have been stuck dealing with challenges not progressing or the impossible challenges. With Season 2 Reloaded dropping for players, they got access to a new gun, the Armaguerra 43, which has proven to be strong across both Warzone and Vanguard. While people are using it and trying to get the mastery camo, they realized that, once again, stats aren’t tracking properly and they want answers. Warzone & Vanguard Armaguerra camos are broken Many people took their frustrations to Twitter and Reddit as they realized that their camos aren’t being recorded on the newly released Armaguerra. Armaguerra 43 mindgames camo is bugged and not tracking… grinded all day for gold and can’t even accomplished that now because of this bug please fix soon…. — Greg Mountfort (@GregMountfort) March 23, 2022 Players like ‘Greg Mountfort’ discovered that the “Mindgames” section of the submachine gun doesn’t actually count toward anything. These challenges make you get kills while using a certain loadout, which can be a bit hard. So not having it count can be quite annoying. Redditors even took out their frustrations, with one replying “surprised?” This has been a theme with newly released weapons, and even Vanguard Zombies camos aren’t in Warzone yet. The good news for players is that Sledgehammer Games is fully aware of this issue and addressed it in a tweet. 🐛 Investigating: Challenges in the Mindgames Camo Category for the Armaguerra 43 SMG are not correctly tracked.https://t.co/mzkP8daA0q — Sledgehammer Games (@SHGames) March 25, 2022 On March 25, they informed people on their Trello board that they are working on a fix for the newly released Armaguerra. Some players have said it is working now, but others are still having issues. So if you are someone whose challenges aren’t tracking, you may want to hold off using this until SHG confirms a fix.

  • Warzone & Vanguard players furious as Krampus monster ruins matches – Dexerto

Warzone & Vanguard players furious as Krampus monster ruins matches ActivisionKrampus is part of CoD Warzone and Vanguard’s Festive Fervor event, a terrifying monster who hunts down anyone on the “naughty” list. But just hours after his introduction, players are already reporting that Krampus is costing them the game. The Warzone and Vanguard Festive Fervor event is underway, bringing some holiday spirit to Call of Duty. The festive theme has spread across both sides of the CoD titles, from elves roaming Caldera to Vanguard’s Shipment map being covered in wrapping paper. One of the more controversial additions has been Krampus, the Christmas monster found in folklore tales. Ever since the December 16 update, he has been hunting players Warzone and Vanguard alike. But just a few short hours after Krampus made his CoD debut, players are already calling for changes. They claim that the monster is disrupting matches and costing them wins. Krampus tracks down and tries to kill players fairly randomly, but favors those deemed to be the most deserving This could be because you collected coal from a Holiday Crate in Warzone, or you’re not playing the objective in Vanguard. While there’s no doubt that Krampus was intended to be a bit of holiday fun, CoD players feel he is causing chaos – particularly in Warzone. Reddit user Dyynomight started a thread calling for Krampus’ removal, saying he has “got to go.” The player claimed that he was in a “top five situation” before he had to waste precious ammo fending off the monster, while also dealing with other enemies. Other Warzone players have shared reports of the bullet sponge disrupting their match. “I was top 5, and there was a time limit of 3 minutes. Like, just handicap me for the rest of the game why don’t you?” said one user. “I’m sprinting around the final circle, shooting this thing and of course immediately get murdered by someone else,” reported another. One Redditor even revealed they had to deal with Krampus in the final three, after already killing him earlier in the match. This has caused many CoD fans to ask for changes to the way Krampus works. They feel that the beats should no longer hunt players in the latter stages of a match, such as after the Gulag has closed. Others believed that Krampus should work the same as similar NPCs in Fortnite, who are permanently out of the match after they are defeated once. It isn’t just casual Warzone that have to deal with the Krampus problem. The Festive Fervor event has also applied to Vanguard’s private matches, meaning that professional esports players have to put up with it as well. When you consider that the CDL Challengers Cup is taking place from December 18, incidents like the below clip from vltSins cause chaos in competitive matches. Krampus is hunting me in Gavutu PP’s gl in the cup pic.twitter.com/DO0LH0XTc8 — brady (@vltSins) December 17, 2021 Krampus hasn’t been in Warzone and Vanguard long, but he already appears to be causing plenty of frustrations. And with Esports players also being terrorized by this mythical monster, the community will be hoping for a change to how he is implemented very soon.

  • Warzone & Vanguard leakers claim King Kong event is coming – Dexerto

Warzone & Vanguard leakers claim King Kong event is coming Legendary PicturesTo keep Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard fresh, Activision is constantly releasing new skin bundles for players to get. Now, leakers are claiming that the Eighth Wonder of the World, King Kong, could be getting an in-game event. Season 2 of Warzone and Vanguard released on February 14 and the devs have already given players over 10 skin bundles. From free bundles to Battle Pass skins, this season is packed with content. The community has also already gotten a sneak peak at some of the content that is coming. This includes another Attack on Titan pack and even Snoop Dogg. However, Activision apparently isn’t stopping there as leaks suggest that Hollywood’s famous King Kong is coming to the franchise. CoD Warzone & Vanguard leak suggest King Kong event 🚨Warzone News🚨 👉 It appears they may be HINTING at a #CallofDuty Warzone event actually. Via – @RealiityUK https://t.co/7wKUl7c2HF — Warzone Alerts (@WarzoneAlerts) February 19, 2022 According to a Tweet from a Call of Duty new account that reports the findings of leakers, King Kong is rumored to be coming to the game as an event. Trusted leakers such as RealityUK and TheGhostofHope have hinted toward the mythical beast coming to the game. On February 18, Ghost tweeted out a gif of King Kong roaring into the sky. And Reality added on by posting a picture of the gorilla fighting planes in the sky with the Warzone logo at the bottom. https://twitter.com/RealiityUK/status/1495167965196652544 These two have been known in the past for leaking things such as the Zombies Easter egg, and reporting that Snoop Dogg is coming to the game. However, there is no way to confirm if King Kong will actually be coming to Warzone and Vanguard. But the rumors have floating around have people like Swagg super excited for the possibility of the in-game event. The beast is similar to Krampus, so it might not be too far fetched to have King Kong running around Caldera or Vanguard killing people.

  • Warzone’s Vanguard integration date reportedly leaked: New Pacific map release, WWII weapons – Dexerto

Warzone’s Vanguard integration date reportedly leaked: New Pacific map release, WWII weapons ActivisionWarzone’s integration with Call of Duty Vanguard appears to have a date set in stone as new leaks have seemingly revealed when we can expect the new Pacific map, along with every WWII-era piece of equipment. With CoD Vanguard set to arrive on November 5, its full-fledged Warzone integration is set to follow close behind. Following the same pattern as Black Ops Cold War in 2020, all-new content from the latest release will be deployed in Warzone simultaneously. From the new Pacific map, to dozens of WWII-era weapons, and even CoD’s new RICOCHET anti-cheat system, it’s all set to arrive one the same day. While this exact date has been kept under wraps for now, early leaks pulled from Warzone’s October 18 update appear to have revealed key details. Warzone’s integration with CoD Vanguard is reportedly set for Tuesday, December 7, according to a prominent leaker. https://twitter.com/ZestyCODLeaks/status/1450260681631014912 A new string of code plucked from the latest Warzone patch seemingly revealed a menu advertisement for the integration. “Vanguard is coming,” it reads. This promotion labelled the crossover as ‘Chapter 3,’ following on from Modern Warfare and Cold War as Chapters 1 and 2 respectively. “Chapter 3 coming December 7th.” With Warzone Season 6 now underway, most were under the impression it would be the final season in Verdansk. Therefore, rather than transitioning to Season 7, we would instead transition to Season 1 all over again with the arrival of Vanguard. While the December 7 date is yet to be confirmed by Activision, take this information with a grain of salt. After all, the December 7 date doesn’t exactly align with the end of the Season 6 Battle Pass. An official announcement is sure to be made public in the very near future as Vanguard’s full release draws close. • Warzone & Vanguard getting “Armored War Machines” in Season 2 – Dexerto

Warzone & Vanguard getting “Armored War Machines” in Season 2 ActivisionAs fans await the arrival of Warzone and Vanguard Season 2, the Call of Duty team has revealed that Armored War Machines are set to take over both titles. There have been many leaks leading up to the February 14 release date of Season 2. Between new weapons, modes, and maps the hype has been building. From previous intel, we found out that Ground War is set to return in Vanguard. While in Warzone there have been claims of a new vehicle that is coming. Well, the Call of Duty social media team has fans on the edge of their seats as they teased a massive addition with the new season. Armored War Machines coming in Warzone & Vanguard Season 2 https://twitter.com/CallofDuty/status/1490745003903229961 On February 7, Call of Duty tweeted out an official artwork reveal for Season 2 and captioned it, “Get ready for Armored War Machines coming to Vanguard and Warzone.” In the picture we can see a motorcycle and some heavy tanks in the background. This has the community praying that Vanguard’s rumored Ground War is actually a remake of WW2’s War mode. KRNG Hero replied “War mode would be perfect for this CoD.” Another person commented, “Ground War or War???” Fans have been begging for this to come back and it lines up with the CoD tweet as the mode has armored tanks and vehicles. On the Warzone side, this could be confirming that the new vehicle coming is as strong as advertised. The plane is said to be strong enough to destroy Buy Stations and Loadout Drops, which could be what they are referring to with “Armored War Machines.” With just a week until Season 2, we will have our questions answered soon. But in the meantime, check out our Call of Duty page for all the latest news.

  • Warzone & Vanguard devs send strong message to hackers – Dexerto

Warzone & Vanguard devs send strong message to hackers ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone’s developers have taken direct aim at hackers. In a new statement, the studio has confronted cheaters and laid out a teaser for the upcoming Vanguard anti-cheat. It’s no secret that Warzone has had a problem with hackers. The battle royale’s cheating situation has been complained about many times and the devs are apparently well aware. In the Vanguard trailer, Activision slid in a sly easter egg showing confidence in an upcoming anti-cheat. The general understanding is that said security measures will enter the fold once Vanguard integrates with Warzone. Now, CoD’s official account has decided to send a message to hackers directly. It lays out the franchise’s stance on cheaters and, more importantly, teases a reveal date for the highly anticipated anti-cheat. Call of Duty: Warzone & Vanguard’s anti-cheat teaser https://twitter.com/CallofDuty/status/1448000521743314951 The tweet starts by acknowledging that the CoD devs haven’t always been perfect in curbing hackers: “We don’t always get it right.” But the tone quickly changes, as the devs take aim at cheaters and let it be known how they feel about the behavior. By the end, the message is loud and clear: “Cheaters aren’t welcome. There’s no tolerance for cheaters, and soon you’ll know what we mean.” This is now the second time that the developers have built up their upcoming anti-cheat, so expectations are mile-high. And, as far as what “soon” means, they teased their intentions further. The tweet’s caption says “see you tomorrow.” So Warzone fans have penciled in October 13 as an important date. With Vanguard set to release on November 5, it’s unclear if the anti-cheat will be debuting ahead of time or if the date alluded to is simply a reveal of upcoming plans. Whatever the case, streamers and casual players alike have rallied around this message. Its phrasing is direct and its threatening aura has seemingly given many hope.

  • How to get Utility Box Field Upgrade in Warzone & what is it? – Dexerto

How to get Utility Box Field Upgrade in Warzone & what is it? ActivisionWarzone Season 3 Reloaded introduced the Utility Box; here’s a rundown on how to get the new Field Upgrade and what it does. The launch of Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 Reloaded has brought several new content items to the experience. Specialist makes its return, for instance, ensuring that players who find it benefits from every Warzone Perk available. Season 3 Reloaded also added the Utility Box as another uncommon Field Upgrade well worth using. Here’s what the new Field Upgrade offers and how Warzone players can access it in-game. Contents What is the Utility Box Field Upgrade in Warzone? Operators can use the Utility Box to resupply essential items, including armor plates, bullets, and grenades while in battle on Rebirth Island. As noted on the Call of Duty blog, this new Field Upgrade represents the perfect combination of the existing ammunition and armor boxes. How to get the Utility Box Not unlike other Field Upgrades, Warzone players can find Utility Boxes in a supply box or while searching through ground loot. Those who’ve saved enough money can also purchase the box at Buy Stations scattered around the map. It’s worth noting that this particular piece of rare loot only exists on Rebirth Island for now. As such, players will not find it while playing on the Urzikstan map. Developer Raven Software has yet to reveal whether the content will make the jump anytime soon.

  • Warzone update removes problematic one-shot Lockwood 300 attachment again – Dexerto

Warzone update removes problematic one-shot Lockwood 300 attachment again ActivisionThe Lockwood 300 continues to be a nightmare to balance. A new playlist update has gone live, disabling the notorious Dual Trigger attachment once again. Since its inception, Warzone‘s provided a challenge for developers to balance, and for good reason. As each new CoD title integrates with the battle royale, it adds another layer of items to balance. MW3’s Warzone integration was no different, with issues like the MTZ Interceptor and the Tyr Snake Shots causing nightmares to players. Both issues have been addressed, although it took some time for that to happen. However, it seems the one problem that won’t go away is the infamous Lockwood 300 and its Maelstrom Dual Trigger attachment. Warzone update nerfs Lockwood 300 yet again Since its arrival in last year’s MW2, the Lockwood 300 has seen more nerfs than players can count. As mentioned, the problem is the Maelstrom Dual Trigger attachment, causing it to one-shot players. It was removed right before the holidays until it rejoined during the Season 1 Reloaded update, albeit with minor fixes. Of course, the fixes weren’t enough, as the gun still saw high usage with said attachment. That said, a new playlist update has gone live, once again disabling it. Much like the previous scenario, it’ll still be visible in the Gunsmith, although it can’t be equipped. Player feedback was unsurprisingly positive, as this issue is seemingly in a cursed loop. Warzone content creator, JoeWo, replied with praise although he highlighted the other issues in-game that needed addressing: “W, BUT CAN YOU PLEASE FIX THE NEW SMG FOR PEOPLE THAT UNLOCKED IT THE FIRST DAY?” With the Lockwood 300 a timeless menace at this point, it’ll be interesting to see what more the developers will do to the gun. Maybe they’ll just leave it disabled for good, as many of the comments hoped for.

  • Warzone update removes all vehicles because of game-breaking exploit – Dexerto

Warzone update removes all vehicles because of game-breaking exploit Infinity WardInfinity Ward has been forced to remove all vehicles from Warzone, after it was discovered that there was a game-breaking exploit allowing players to crash lobbies on demand. This exploit began to become more widely known on September 5, with YouTuber JackFrags even saying that the game was totally “ruined” until there was a hotfix. Players were able to completely crash the game server on command, by using one of the game’s trucks in a certain area of the map. https://twitter.com/jackfrags/status/1302378056682741765 Infinity Ward disable vehicles in Warzone Obviously recognizing the severity of the problem, Infinity Ward had to act fast to avoid more widespread issues as more players discovered how to perform the exploit. Late on September 5, they rolled out a hotfix to temporarily remove all vehicles. This seems to be their only option at this time, as a true fix for the exploit would likely require a client-side update. A playlist update is rolling out now across all platforms! This update temporarily removes all vehicles from #Warzone. — Infinity Ward (@InfinityWard) September 6, 2020 Until that is possible, a hotfix to remove vehicles is their only option, due to the serious nature of the exploit which would have resulted in games being crashed non-stop across the world in Warzone. There’s no timescale given by Infinity Ward on when vehicles will be making a comeback, but as mentioned, it will probably not be until they can roll out a client-side patch to fix the actual exploit itself. In the meantime, removing the tools to use the exploit (vehicles) will have to suffice. This obviously has an impact on gameplay, as trucks, quad bikes, and helicopters are a major part of Warzone. On the bright side, it gives the devs and players a chance to experiment with a no-vehicle mode – even if not how they intended.

  • Warzone update nerfs DMR, MAC-10, Diamatti, Type 63: Patch Notes – Dexerto

Warzone update nerfs DMR, MAC-10, Diamatti, Type 63: Patch Notes ActivisionIn a new Call of Duty: Warzone patch, Black Ops Cold War’s DMR, MAC-10, dual Diamattis and Type 63 have all been nerfed — ending what was potentially the most oppressive Verdansk meta to date. It took a few days for the DMR and MAC-10 to be discovered and then a few more for the dual Diamattis to come into play. But, in the weeks since Black Ops Cold War: Season 1 debuted Warzone integration, the Cold War meta has become a sore point throughout the Warzone community. Now, just a day after promising adjustments, Raven Software have taken to Twitter to announce that the three meta weapons (DMR 14, MAC-10, dual wield Diamattis) and the likely successor (Type 63, another tactical rifle) are all getting nerfed in a quick update. For all but the Diamattis, the nerfs come with headshot damage tweaks and, for the tactical rifles, some recoil changes. Interestingly, this sets a concrete meta into a liquidated flux, but players do have some theories for the next meta already. The time has come. 📄#Warzone update going live: – DMR 14 – Reduced headshot damage, increased recoil – Type 63 – Reduced headshot damage, increased recoil – Mac-10 – Decreased headshot multiplier – Dual pistols – Increased hip fire spread, decreased damage range— Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) January 6, 2021 Offered to the community without an official patch notes blog, but instead with a tweet, Raven have quickly described the adjustments for each of the weapons. While this doesn’t give exact numbers, Warzone fans are likely to begin experimenting immediately in an effort to discover just how harshly these guns have been treated. Read more: Warzone finisher would have let you teabag – For the two tactical rifles, DMR and Type 63, headshot damage has been decreased and recoil has, conversely, been increased. This should limit their damage capacity (good bye, two-shot, fully armored kills at any range) and raise their skill cap, ensuring that shots aren’t as easy to hit as they once were. For the MAC-10, the headshot multiplier has simply been decreased — meaning the damage ceiling is lowered, but the gun’s range is untouched, keeping it viable. And, finally, the Ghosted assassin’s dream, the dual Diamattis, have been doubly nerfed so that 1) their hip fire spread is wider and, therefore, less accurate and 2) their already-uninspiring damage range has been further cut, seemingly putting the pistols in the “could maybe try to melee instead” range. While every gun will still need to be tested to determine just how harsh the nerfs are, the community is excited to find out. The DMR better be nerfed into the ground and completely unusable after this update. I’m comfortable saying that it was the most overpowered weapon in Warzone history. https://t.co/dGqV80I81w — 100T Nadeshot (@Nadeshot) January 6, 2021 As Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag’s tweet indicates, people are desperate for the DMR to be put away alongside the most OP guns in Verdansk history. It remains to be seen if the gun has truly been “nerfed into the ground and completely unusable,” but fans are likely already trying to discover the next meta. As far as current theories, people expect that a FFAR and Kar98k loadout could come into play, while also wondering if a Cold War LMG could make its presence felt. January 16 Warzone full patch notes DMR 14: Reduced headshot damage, increased recoil – Type 63: Reduced headshot damage, increased recoil – Mac-10: Decreased headshot multiplier – Dual Diamattis: Increased hip fire spread, decreased damage range – (It’s worth bearing in mind that these changes are solely being made in Warzone as well, so the Cold War multiplayer experience is untouched by these adjustments.)

  • Warzone update makes fan-requested change to Fortune’s Keep – Dexerto

Warzone update makes fan-requested change to Fortune’s Keep ActivisionRaven Software has listened to the Warzone community and increased the amount of Buy Stations on Fortune’s Keep Fortune’s Keep was introduced at the launch of Season 4, and the small-scale map quickly became a fan favorite among players. The map received positive feedback, but one highly requested change was an increase in Buy Stations. Raven Software also increased the player count on Fortune’s Keep in a limited-time playlist that only amplified the Buy Station scarcity. Popular CoD Youtuber JGOD responded to the new playlist by saying, “after the first match, I will say…I think 50 is the sweet spot with better respawn mechs, also nowhere near enough buy stations.” Warzone developers listened to the overwhelming feedback and adjusted accordingly. Warzone adds Buy Stations to Fortune’s Keep Raven Software confirmed that Buy Stations are increasing from 10 to 13 on Fortune’s Keep. The small update goes live immediately and players can jump in and experience the much-needed change for themselves. Time will only tell if 13 is the magic number or if more additions need to be made in the future.

  • Warzone update fixes unintentional Season 5 fall damage buff – Dexerto

Warzone update fixes unintentional Season 5 fall damage buff ActivisionAfter the Season 5 update, players were able to jump from higher heights without taking fall damage, but Raven Software noticed the unintended change and responded accordingly. Mountaineer is a perk in Warzone that doubles the height requirement before fall damage becomes lethal. The lethal number is 13 meters, but with Mountaineer, it nearly doubles to around 26 meters before becoming fatal. IceManIsaac discovered that after the Season 5 update, Mountaineer prevents death from 34 meters, up from 26, making jumping off previously unimaginable heights possible. In addition, general fall damage also got nerfed, as you could survive a 16-meter jump when it was previously 13. Raven Software sprung into action and deployed an update that “Fixed an issue allowing players to fall from higher than intended without taking damage.” As a result, players can no longer jump from outrageous heights without being punished. CoD content creator WhosImmortal responded, “The Mountaineer/Fall Damage strat seems to have been nerfed.” Other community members mourned the loss of this strategy as it made traversing Al Mazrah much easier. One player tagged IceManIsaac and responded, “time to wake up, the dream is over.” “Isaac made a great video with details only for Activision to realize that’s not supposed to happen,” a second user added. The update also fixed an issue with Trophy Systems that caused Bunker Busters to be unusable for the duration of the match. So, if you have seen less of the killstreak lately, expect that to change after this update. Before testing, we don’t know the extent of this change. In saying that, we still expect Mountaineer to be a great perk option, and players should still consider using it. Even if the perk doesn’t work as effectively as before, being able to jump from higher heights will always be an asset. If players want to learn about other recent Warzone updates, check out the latest RICOCHET anti-cheat change.

  • Warzone update fixes Season 6 crashes on PS4, PC & Xbox – Dexerto

Warzone update fixes Season 6 crashes on PS4, PC & Xbox ActivisionInfinity Ward are putting out a fix to the rampant Warzone crashes players have been reporting throughout PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC communities following the Season 6 release. The company is releasing a quick in-game update on every platform that they hope will resolve the recurring stalls that have been filing in since the patch. “A patch is rolling out now that resolves this issue across all platforms,” IW said. “Thank you again for your patience while we worked on a solution and if you experience any further issues, please reach out to Activision.” This should resolve most of the issues that players have been encountering since the highly-anticipated launch of Season 6, though players should keep an eye out and report any issues that may come up. A patch is rolling out now that resolves this issue across all platforms. Thank you again for your patience while we worked on a solution and if you experience any further issues, please reach out to @ATVIAssist https://t.co/kQH0eDLPe4 — Infinity Ward (@InfinityWard) September 30, 2020 IW and Activision were bombarded with reports and complaints after players were finding that Warzone was malfunctioning hours after downloading the full patch update. “We’re still working on this issue but do have a fix that we’re hoping to release tomorrow, pending any unforeseen issues with testing,” IW wrote. “We’ll provide another update when we have more to share. Thank you again for your patience.” After the problem had been identified, the company told affected players to expect another download soon that would directly address the problems that stemmed from the new season. On September 29, Infinity Ward launched the sixth season for Modern Warfare and its battle royale component. The update ranged from 20GB to 63GB depending on the platform, but people from all corners of the CoD player base were filinging in with outages or prolonged stalls. About eight hours after the patch dropped, Activision Support recognized the widespread issues with Warzone and Modern Warfare that were preventing people from dropping into Season 6. This isn’t to be confused with the CE-34878-0 blue screen errors on PlayStation 4 that forced community members to create a workaround fix for themselves. Hopefully this will be the last of any issues pertaining to the Season 6 launch, though Activision and Infinity Ward will be on the case if any other problems should arise.

  • Warzone update fixes Pacific’s worst problem with weapon Bloom removed – Dexerto

Warzone update fixes Pacific’s worst problem with weapon Bloom removed ActivisionThe controversial decision to include Bloom in Call of Duty: Warzone appears to have been short-lived. Players are now reporting that Bloom has been removed from Vanguard’s weapons, removing the random elements of gunfights in Caldera. Bloom has become a hot topic in the FPS industry in recent years. The game mechanic is a simple RnG element that can greatly randomize your fired shots, meaning that they won’t always hit the mark you intend. Fortnite was one of the first major games to embrace it and become noted for utilizing Bloom. In recent years, other games have followed suit, including Battlefield 2042 and Call of Duty: Vanguard. Witch Sledgehammer Games’ newest FPS becoming integrated into Warzone Pacific, it brought Bloom with it. However, it appears that the 1.50 December 15 update has secretly removed Bloom from Vanguard weapons, taking it out of the game. Read More: Where to find Krampus in Warzone: Locations – Many players cottoned onto this fact quite quickly, and content creator and streamer TheXclusiveAce showed evidence of the change. It compared the before and after effects of Vanguard’s AS 44 Assault Rifle in Warzone at long-range – 71 meters to be exact. It looks like ADS Spread (Bloom) was completely eliminated in Warzone with today’s patch! pic.twitter.com/kdXhR8wo8E — Xclusive Ace (@TheXclusiveAce) December 15, 2021 As you can see, the pre-patch findings showed how influential Bloom was in combat, making the AS 44 completely unpredictable. Whereas after the December 15 patch, it’s now a lot more controlled and manageable. Multiple players questioned the point of the ‘Accuracy’ stat, which was the determining factor in how much Bloom you suffered from. To be clear, in the example above, those are single shots fired at the same spot. A burst of AR fire won’t have zero recoil, just consistent recoil now. With Warzone now completely free of Bloom, it begs the question as to whether or not Vanguard will follow suit and ditch the unpopular modifier.

  • Warzone update fixes game-breaking bugs with Stim and Loadouts – Dexerto

Warzone update fixes game-breaking bugs with Stim and Loadouts ActivisionA December 19 Call of Duty: Warzone update is patching numerous issues that have emerged in the game since Black Ops Cold War’s integration in Season 1. Namely, the dreaded freezing loadout bug and the infinite Stim Shot glitch. Since Season 1, Warzone players have found themselves surrounded by cascades of new content. Unfortunately, the massive integration of titles has also come with the re-emergence of two game-breaking bugs. Within days of the season’s launch, Raven Software acted quickly to find a workaround for a glitched exploit that allowed players to abuse the new Attack Helicopters and become entirely invisible for the duration of a match. Now, they’re addressing the game’s next two biggest bugs. Having simply removed the gunned choppers from the game, developers moved onto the next two biggest issues: the unlimited Stim Shot glitch and the loadout freeze bug. Each could completely ruin players’ games, making them chief priorities. As Raven Software explain, they believe they’ve found solutions to both game-breaking bugs, but will be continuing to monitor in case anything slipped through the cracks. Additionally, the patch is accompanied by a variety of smaller, less consequential bug fixes. Read more: When are Attack Helicopters coming back? – No more infinite Stims or loadout freezes As the patch notes indicate, there are two principal changes. First, Raven believe they have removed the ability for players to use tactical items infinitely (which directly caused the Stim Shot drama, allowing people to survive indefinitely in the gas). Second, they believe they’ve solved the loadout drop problem. Given that loadouts now need to access a database with over 30 more guns and all of their attachments, it’s unsurprising that there were some problems doing so. Many players found themselves fully troubled by the issue though, as their character would simply freeze until they got downed when trying to access the loadout. Read more: Dr Disrespect wants to a Gulag – As of yet, they have still not officially addressed the questions surrounding weapon tuning in Season 1. Warzone Season 1, December 19 patch notes Fixed issue that allowed player to use tactical items infinitely – Speculative fix for players stuck when accessing loadout drops – if you still encounter this, let us know! – Fixed issue that prevented Seasonal Challenge progression – Fixed issue that prevented access to Match Summary screens – Fixed issue that prevented player from equipping max Cold War weapon level attachments – Fixed issue that displayed “unlocks at random level” instead of weapons’ intended unlock levels –

  • Warzone players stunned as update makes Kar98k a semi-auto monster – Dexerto

Warzone players stunned as update makes Kar98k a semi-auto monster ActivisionThe Kar98k has long been one of Call of Duty: Warzone’s most formidable meta weapons. The Marksman Rifle makes a great Sniper Rifle, and now it seems to have gotten an unintentional semi-auto buff thanks to the newest Warzone update. Warzone’s 1.50 update has dropped and it’s made several huge changes to the battle royale. The much-hyped RICOCHET anti-cheat system is now officially live worldwide to clamp down on hackers and cheaters. Not only that but several weapons have been nerfed, namely the Automaton Assault Rifle from Vanguard. But, one accidental change seems to have happened to the ever-popular Kar98k, as one member of the KARNAGE Clan claims that the gun is now semi-auto. For some reason, the Kar98k has been left relatively untouched for a long time now. Apart from the Swiss K31, no other Sniper Rifle is truly worth using when you can use the Kar98k. KRNG Depv thinks that the gun is now even more OP following the December 14 Warzone update. “They broke the Kar98 in Warzone now,” they said in a very simple Tweet. The Tweet came with a video demonstrating the after-effects of the recent changes to the weapon. • Warzone Update April 6 patch notes: AUG & FFAR nerf and attachment changes – Dexerto

Warzone Update April 6 patch notes: AUG & FFAR nerf and attachment changes ActivisionRaven has released a brand-new patch for Call of Duty: Warzone, which nerfs the AUG tactical rifle and the FFAR assault rifle, both of which have been dominating the meta for quite some time, and changed some attachments too. If you’ve been hoping for a nerf to some of the most used weapons in Warzone right now, then the developers of the hit battle royale game have finally heard your calls. On the morning of April 6, 2021, developer Raven Software released a much-anticipated game settings update for Warzone, that nerfed a couple guns, changed up some of the attachments, and fixed some of the camo challenges for the new R1 Shadowhunter crossbow. Warzone April 6 patch most important changes Easily the biggest changes that players are going to see are the nerfs to the AUG and the FFAR Black Ops Cold War weapons. For the former, the recoil strength has been increased, with Raven specifically stating that, before this nerf, the weapon was too easy to keep on target. For the FFAR, the aim-down-sight (ADS) speed has been decreased, making it a less viable option for quick engagements. For this nerf, Raven said that it wants to bring the AR in line with other assault rifles, as it had the potential to out-class some SMGs before this nerf. A number of attachments also got some changes as well. Namely, Rear Grip attachments that previously said they would increase ADS speed now do, and the Pellington 703 wrapped suppressor now shows proper changes in the stat bar. 🛠️ A #Warzone update is going live now! Changes incoming to various weapons and attachments. Read the detailed notes here:https://t.co/bUrqXx9ELU Enjoy! — Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) April 6, 2021 Finally, the Geometric, Flora, and Science Camo challenges for the R1 Shadowhunter have also been fixed, after being broken since its release. As with other game setting updates, players don’t have to download an entirely different patch file and will instead be prompted to update their settings when they log-in the next time, which should only take a few minutes at most. Raven’s official patch notes follow: GENERAL The Camo Challenges for the “R1 Shadowhunter” now appear correctly for the Geometric, Flora, and Science Camo Categories. – WEAPONS Cold War Tactical Rifle Charlie Recoil strength has been increased. Burst weapons ride a fine line between inefficient and oppressive. The intent of this change is to maintain the weapon’s identity of being a powerhouse while making it a bit more difficult to wield. Right now we feel it is too easy to stay on target given how lethal it is. We will continue to monitor the performance of the Tactical Rifle Charlie and make additional changes if necessary. – – Burst weapons ride a fine line between inefficient and oppressive. Right now we feel it is too easy to stay on target given how lethal it is. We will continue to monitor the performance of the Tactical Rifle Charlie and make additional changes if necessary. – – Recoil strength has been increased. – FFAR 1 ADS speed has been decreased. The FFAR is a jack of all trades. It has the damage profile and range of an AR as well as the fire rate of an SMG. The FFAR’s wholesale efficacy has it edging out SMGs at ranges we’re not satisfied with. Ideally, the FFAR fulfills the role of a mid-range dominator while falling prey to weapons that excel in short-range engagements. We are bringing the FFAR a bit more in line with what you might expect from an AR—damage and range at the cost of handling. – – – ADS speed has been decreased. – ATTACHMENTS Rear Grip attachments that showed ADS speed pros should now properly increase ADS speed. – Fixed a bug with the Groza where the 16.5” CMV Mil-Spec barrel would bypass damage falloff. – Fixed a bug with the Ember Sighting Point where the XM4 and AK-47 had their ADS speed increased rather than decreased. – Fixed a bug with the Salvo Fast Mag where the FFAR 1 and M16 were not having their ADS speed decreased. – The Pelington 703 Wrapped Suppressor effects should now be properly represented in the stat bar. – Developing story…

  • Warzone update April 28 patch notes: Hunt for Adler and map exploit fixes – Dexerto

Warzone update April 28 patch notes: Hunt for Adler and map exploit fixes ActivisionRaven has announced that a brand-new settings update went live for Warzone on April 28 and it provides fixes for both the Hunt for Adler event and the out-of-map exploits that have been plaguing the game since the Season 3 update. If you’ve been annoyed by some of the bugs affecting Warzone recently then you’ll be happy to know that a new update has been released that fixes a few major problems. The update, which is the first patch since the Season 3 update on April 21, brings a few notable changes to Warzone. Fortunately, it isn’t a full-blown patch, so players won’t have to download anything on to their platforms and will instead be prompted to install a small playlist update once they log-in. Warzone April 28 update notable changes Most notably, Raven has fixed the out-of-map exploits that a lot of players have been utilizing since Verdansk ’84’s launch. While the inclusion of the new map was generally well-received, it did bring with it few bugs so it was only a matter of time before it was fixed. The developers have also fixed the Hunt for Adler event. The Warzone challenges for the event have been causing problems ever since it started, with some of the intel required spawning outside of the play area and some of the challenges not tracking properly. Both of the aforementioned problems should be fixed after this latest update. While the event was originally supposed to end on April 28, Activision has extended it by 24 hours to give players extra time to complete it with the new fixes in place. The event will now end on April 29, 2021, at 10AM PST (1PM EST). In addition to both the Hunt for Adler event and out-of-map exploits getting fixed, some other minor bugs also got squashed, including one that was causing the gas mask screen overlay to stay after the item broke and one that allowed a Modern Warfare weapon to spawn in loot boxes, even though that shouldn’t be possible. Finally, the size of the first and second circles in Verdansk Resurgance have been reduced, which should change up the gameplay pretty substantially. Raven’s official patch notes follow: GENERAL The sizes of the first and second circles have been reduced for Verdansk Resurgence. – End-of-game open mic has been turned off for modes with infinite respawn mechanics. This was intended to take effect with the release of Season Three last week. – BUG FIXES “Hunt for Adler” Limited-Time Event Fixed a bug with Challenge completion not tracking as intended. – Fixed a bug causing Intel to spawn outside of the playable map. – – Fixed several map locations in Verdansk that allowed players to reach out-of-bounds areas. – Fixed a bug that would cause gas mask overlays to remain on screen indefinitely if a player exited the gas as their gas mask was fully depleted. – Fixed a bug where the epic loot M82 Semi-Auto Sniper was incorrectly labeled as thermal. – Fixed a bug where the Modern Warfare “Razorwire” Submachine Gun Charlie blueprint could appear in loot caches. – The R1 Shadowhunter Crossbow has had its reload audio restored. – Fixed a bug that disallowed players from exiting the plane in Battle Royale Practice mode. – The explosion in Verdansk’s vista no longer dances around when viewed from different angles. –

  • Warzone update April 19 patch notes: Sykov nerf, sniper glint fix, more – Dexerto

Warzone update April 19 patch notes: Sykov nerf, sniper glint fix, more ActivisionRaven Software has released a brand-new patch for Warzone that addresses a lot of complaints players have had recently, bringing a nerf to the Sykov pistol, a fix for the sniper glint issues, and a change to how the RC-XD can be earned. While Raven previously promised that some major changes would be coming to Warzone in the very near future, but given how close the Season 3 update was, most assumed they’d have to wait until April 21. Now, the developers have decided to drop some of those changes beforehand, and although it doesn’t address everything that players have been complaining about, it does change a fair amount. Warzone April 19 update notable changes Easily the biggest change with the update is the nerf to the Sykov pistol, which was just added officially on April 15th, 2021. The weapon was an absolute powerhouse due to its full-auto, akimbo, and 80-round magazine attachments, allowing it to dominate the battle royale. After this new update, however, the hip fire spread with the full-auto attachment will be increased and the movement speed with the akimbo and 80-round drum mag attachments will be reduced. Finally, if players choose to use both the full-auto and akimbo attachments at the same time, they’ll see the overall weapon damage decreased by 25%. The lack of a scope glint on certain Modern Warfare sniper rifles has also been fixed, while RC-XDs have been removed from the standard buy stations and can now only be purchase from the Containment Monitors. ❗️ To clarify, the 25% damage reduction to the Sykov applies when the Sorokin 140mm Auto and the 80 Round Drums are paired. There is no damage reduction when using these attachments independently. — Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) April 19, 2021 Unlike some previous updates that have come to Warzone, this one is a complete patch that you’ll have to download from your respective platform, meaning you’ll want to start the download as soon as possible so that you can jump in quickly. The sizes aren’t too big, only coming in at 2.3GB for PlayStation, 5GB for Xbox, and around 6GB for PC. Raven’s official patch notes follow: GENERAL The RC-XD has been removed from Buy Stations and is now only available via Containment Monitors. – Fixed an issue causing players to be unable to equip Armor Plates after activating certain Killstreaks or Field Upgrades. – The Containment Protocol missiles will no longer land in the Play Area. – The Containment Protocol missiles have had their sound effects volume reduced. – Fixed a bug causing Loadout Drops to block movement and projectiles after the crate collapses. – King Slayer Trios – The Gas Circle will no longer move completely outside of the Play Area. – BLUEPRINTS The Swatt Master Blueprint now correctly displays the Electric Dismemberment icon. – ATTACHMENTS Fixed a bug with the Modern Warfare Sniper Scope and Variable Zoom Scope where they were not displaying glint. – Fixed a bug with Modern Warfare weapon perks where they were not having their intended effects. – Fixed a bug with the Bullseye Reticle where it would sometimes cause frame rate issues or the disappearance of UI elements. – Sorokin 140mm Auto (Sykov) Hip spread increased – – Akimbo (Sykov) Movement speed reduced by 5% – – 80 Round Drums (Sykov) Movement speed reduced by 5% – ADS movement speed reduced by 7% – – When equipping the Sykov with the Sorokin 140mm Auto and the 80 Round Drums, damage is reduced by 25%. –

  • Warzone update 1.33 patch notes: Devs promise another update soon – Dexerto

Warzone update 1.33 patch notes: Devs promise another update soon ActivisionWarzone developers Raven Software have rolled out a new update, version 1.33, with a fix for some minor issues, and promised a larger update soon. Warzone is now in its second ‘Season 2’, as the seasons reset with the integration of Black Ops Cold War. The second season has brought some map changes to Verdansk, plus a handful of new weapons. The new LC10 SMG is already showing some early potential of being a new meta weapon, although the Fara AR isn’t as competitive. Also added in Season 2 were new reactive camos, and they’re the subject of this latest update, patch 1.33. Warzone 1.33 patch notes All this update addresses was an issue with Reactive Blueprints, according to Raven. A #Warzone update has gone live to address an issue with Reactive Blueprints. Another update is slated for later this week!https://t.co/lSuwHwAtqD — Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) March 2, 2021 This will be disappointing news for players who were waiting for a fix for the broken suppressors. If you’re out of the loop, the devs confirmed shortly after the Season 2 update that the Agency, GRU, and Wrapped suppressors were faulty. These attachments are currently reducing bullet velocity when equipped to any of the Cold War weapons – so you’ll want to steer clear of them for the time being. Raven has promised another update dropping for Warzone later this week, which should address this bug. The full list of bugs the devs are looking into, according to their Trello board, include: Armor plates: Lootable armor plates spawns (on ground and in chests) are inconsistent across different areas of the map – Bullet tracer VFX: Some gun blueprints are missing intended tracer effects (i.e. Bullfrog – Turbo Powered) – CW weapon attachments: Agency/GRU/Wrapped Suppressors will return to previous state next hotfix – Currently experiencing server issues across platforms – We’ll keep you posted on when the next Warzone update rolls out, hopefully with some of the aforementioned fixes included. For now, patch 1.33 doesn’t do much except fix the reactive blueprints.

  • Warzone “unplayable” after Season 4 Reloaded causes massive ping bug – Dexerto

Warzone “unplayable” after Season 4 Reloaded causes massive ping bug Treyarch/ActivisionWarzone players have been experiencing “unplayable” stuttering since the Season 4 Reloaded update, making it impossible to compete in matches. Warzone’s Season 4 Reloaded update introduced a massive amount of new content and exciting balance changes. The community celebrates these huge patches as they have a significant impact on the meta and make a variety of different weapons worth using. Of course, whenever an update is rolled out in a multiplayer title, there’s always the risk that something goes wrong, and a bug starts affecting players’ gameplay experience. Well, that appears to have happened with Season 4 Reloaded, as a lot of the community are running into a ping bug that causes “unplayable” stuttering. In-game pings are causing huge lag spikes in Warzone Pinging locations, guns, and enemies in Warzone is a huge part of the game as it allows you to communicate with your teammates and alert them of any danger. Unfortunately, as showcased by a Reddit user The_Ur3an_Myth, the Season 4 Reloaded patch seems to have introduced a frustrating bug when using the system. Whenever a player uses a ping, the game will immediately begin to drop frames and cause massive lag spikes. It’s impossible to know why this is happening, but it’s making Warzone “borderline unplayable” for a lot of the community. This doesn’t appear to be an isolated issue, with other users in the thread complaining about the exact same glitch: “So when I first read this, I was like surely not, then dropped into a game and noticed lag and thought to test this theory out… You are 100% correct,” wrote one frustrated player. Another even claimed that they have very little faith this will be resolved anytime soon: “Hate to say it but don’t expect it to ever get fixed.” There’s no denying that this is a serious bug as it’s related to a ping system that nearly every player in Warzone uses. Let’s hope Raven can identify the problem and get this fixed in the next patch.

  • Warzone underground glitch is back as players are getting under the map again – Dexerto

Warzone underground glitch is back as players are getting under the map again ActivisionThe infamous Call of Duty: Warzone map clipping exploit on Rebirth Island seems to have returned, with players abusing an exploit to get underneath the map and secure unfair kills. Rebirth Island, Warzone’s revamped version of Blackout’s Alcatraz, has been littered with map clipping exploits for months — infuriating players as they get killed by wall-breaching cheaters. Now, within two weeks of Raven Software allegedly fixing the latest glitch in the Season 2 Reloaded update, the issue seems to be back and as annoying as ever. The problematic bug allows players to sneak underneath the map near the Chemical Engineering POI, at which point they can maneuver around, loot and shoot people without being at risk themselves. As shared on Reddit, this exploit is back like it never left. In a clip posted on April 10, weeks after the glitch was supposed to be fixed, the player gets killed from an invisible source. Seconds later, they see the kill cam and realize it came from underneath the map. As ‘MrMakaveli’ shares to Reddit, they were in the midst of a serious fight at Decon Zone, having just killed an enemy and started reviving their teammate when, out of nowhere, they got beamed to death. When the camera swaps to spectate their assailant, you can see the shooter was underneath the map — seemingly part of the ground between Chem Eng and Decon. While impossible to verify with 100% certainty that this is the same map clipping exploit as the earlier one, it feels remarkably sure. The original wall-breach happened most regularly at the corner of Chem Eng that is closest to both Bioweapon Labs, very close to where this cheater was caught. For now, all Warzone players can do is try to avoid the exploitable area at the northeastern corner of Rebirth Island. As of yet, Raven Software’s Trello board has yet to be updated with any recognition of the glitch’s return. It remains unclear how the Season 2 Reloaded fix for this bug was circumvented, but fans of the game are certainly hopeful that the issue is noticed and resolved once again — ideally in a permanent way this time around.

  • Warzone Underground Fast Travel system explained: All 14 Minecart stop locations – Dexerto

Warzone Underground Fast Travel system explained: All 14 Minecart stop locations ActivisionWarzone Season 3 Reloaded is bringing an all-new fast travel system to the game in the shape of the minecart system. This underground hub will have 14 total access points and will take players all over the map in the blink of an eye. Warzone players will soon be moving around Caldera faster than ever before thanks to the new underground mineshaft system. Like the Red Doors before them, these minecarts rails are a way of instantly traveling across the larger Warzone map and will serve as either an entry or exit point for players who are itching to make a move. This time around though, the person using them will have far more agency over where they end up when taking such a big risk. How does Warzone’s Minecart system work? In order to take advantage of this new feature, players will have to hunt down one of the 14 access points scattered across Caldera. Seven of them will be familiar to veteran players, as they’re simply additional rooms in the hidden Nebula 5 bunkers of Season Two. Read More: Warzone Season 3 Reloaded early patch notes: New travel system, Serpentine perk, Gulag tokens – The other seven are small hatches that each contain a ladder that leads down into the greater hub. All 14 areas will be represented on the map by a silver vault door icon, so everybody on the map will know exactly where to go when they’re near one. Once inside, you’ll need to approach the interior hatch and move towards the cart. The corresponding location will be highlighted on your screen and if you continue forward you’ll be zapped away into the void and on your way across the map. Of course, blindly traveling into an unseen area is not always the best idea in Warzone. That’s why there are certain indicators – like gas vents and warning lights – that will help guide your decision-making. If the overhead light is green, then it’s safe to assume there’s nothing immediately wrong. If it’s any other color then it might be time to make another plan. Additionally, if the indicator is missing altogether and gas is flooding through the vent, then the fast-travel option is off the board entirely. Warzone’s Minecart system locations As mentioned above, there are 14 total stops across Caldera. All of them will be marked on your in-game map, but Toys for Bob has also created an overhead map for players to get an early idea of how it works. The full list contains connections to some of the biggest POIs on the map: Arsenal – Docks – Runway – Ruins – Mines – Peak – Beachhead – Lagoon – Airfield – Fields – Sub Pen – Power Plant – Capital – Resort – While most of them only offer one-way tickets across the map, there are a few (Sub Pen, Field, Airfield, Mines, and Docks) that give players a choice in which direction to go. These will work just like the single stop locations, but there will be two hatches to choose from instead. That’s the rundown on how Warzone’s new fast travel system works! For more info on Season 3 Reloaded, check out our recap of the dev blog for this update or shoot over to our Season 3 Reloaded roadmap to get a better understanding of what’s on the way in.

  • Warzone Type 63 and DMR ammo spawns are bugged and players want a fix – Dexerto

Warzone Type 63 and DMR ammo spawns are bugged and players want a fix ActivisionWarzone Season 5 Reloaded is upon us and with it came a lot of weapon balancing. Off-meta weapons like the Type 63 and DMR have seen a rise in popularity. However, players want a change to the game’s coding that is dropping sniper ammo for these guns. Ground loot is one of the most important aspects of Warzone, as it allows you to get some early kills and earn cash for a Loadout Drop. With a variety of guns that can spawn, each can serve a different purpose. With a recent shift in the meta for close and long-range weapons, the Type 63 and DMR are making some noise. While certain guns are more viable than others, players are really upset that they can’t even find ammo for certain weapons, as the game doesn’t give it to them. Warzone players want bugged ammo drops fixed Since the Season 5 Reloaded update, players have been trying out new SMG style Type 63 and DMR loadouts. These two guns are being used as submachine guns as they have insane TTKs up close. The DMR was so busted that it was immediately nerfed following the update. Now, players are upset with a coding issue in the game. When finding these two weapons on the floor it seems that only sniper ammo spawns with it. In a Reddit thread by user tryingtoodthc, players point out that this has been an ongoing issue for a while. With these guns seeing an increase in popularity, the community wants to know why they aren’t dropping the ammo type that the guns use. One person notes that these guns are coded as snipers and when the weapons are pinged in-game its says, “Sniper rifle here. While both of these weapons are listed as tactical rifles in the gunsmith, they are coded as snipers in the game, resulting in that type of ammo dropping. Other players voiced their frustrations over this annoying bug, claiming that the. There has been no word of Activision being aware of this issue or working on a fix, we will keep you updated if the devs decide to change this. Read More: When is Warzone Season 6? – While this can be extremely frustrating for players, there should be enough assault rifle ammo around Verdansk that players can scoop up. • Warzone Twitch viewership slumps to lowest ever ahead of Warzone 2 – Dexerto

Warzone Twitch viewership slumps to lowest ever ahead of Warzone 2 ActivisionAs Call of Duty Warzone begins to wind down ahead of the release of Warzone 2, the battle royale has slumped to its lowest ever Twitch viewership since it arrived two years ago. When Warzone launched back in March 2020, it quickly became of the most popular battle royales on the market. The blend of Call of Duty’s signature gunplay with a sprawling map filled with over 100 players was tough for fans to resist. Not only was it a big hit among gamers, but Warzone’s presence on Twitch almost immediately rivaled other players in the BR space, such as Fortnite and Apex Legends. Now, however, with Warzone 2 just months away, interest appears to be waning as the game has slipped to its lowest ever Twitch viewership since release. Warzone drops to all-time low Twitch viewers According to stats shown on Sully Gnome, an average of 37,548 viewers were tuned in to Warzone streams at any given time throughout September 2022. This is almost 7,000 less than it received in August and, even more worryingly, around 5,000 less than the previous record low in July. These numbers will be unsurprising to many, as interest in Warzone has dipped significantly compared to the Verdasnk days. April 2021 saw the game attract nearly 140,000 average viewers, peaking at 1.6 million on one occasion. However, after the release of CoD Vanguard and the switch over to Caldera, the game failed to hit the heights of previous months and the numbers have been falling steadily throughout 2022 – peaking in January at just 60,000. There could be a number of reasons for this dramatic fall in appeal. The Pacific era of Warzone has generally been less well-received than the Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War versions, and popular streamers like Dr Disrespect and NICKMERCS have often opted to stream different games instead. It’s also worth keeping in mind that Warzone Season 5 is the final chapter before the sequel launches, and Season 5 Reloaded is the last major update. This feeling that the original Warzone is nearing the end could have contributed to the lower Twitch viewership. Warzone 2 is also set to arrive on November 16, so there’s every chance that these figures will pick back up once creators drop into Al Mazrah on day one. Whatever the reason may be, Activision will be hoping that Warzone’s record low Twitch viewership is just a lull before the sequel takes the platform by storm.

  • Warzone Twitch streamers bamboozled by stream sniper using animal noises – Dexerto

Warzone Twitch streamers bamboozled by stream sniper using animal noises 100 Thieves/UTA/ActivisionA stream sniper that likes to baffle top streamers by playing animal noises in his Warzone death comms has come back, leaving the likes of NICKMERCS, CouRage and Cloakzy in hysterics. Being able to hear your opponent after killing them is one of the highlights of Warzone. Making a blinding play and hearing their screams of frustration is a feeling that isn’t easy to replicate. One player, however, realized that he can use his death comms to whichever end he likes, and did what any big-brained Warzone player would do: play animal noises. It might sound strange, but some of the biggest streamers on Twitch and YouTube have been targeted, and they find it absolutely hilarious. Earlier in 2021, BrunoJohn117 trolled the likes of NICKMERCS and Tfue, and he’s come back with even more noises and targeted more streamers. In the 2-minute compilation, embedded below, the content creators clearly love it, especially the likes of Nick and TimTheTatman who were already familiar with it. After killing him for a second time, Charlie ‘MuTeX’ Saouma even says that he’s “going to miss him” and drives BrunoJohn’s vehicle out of the area in memory of him, clearly leaving a mark. Bruno didn’t just limit himself to animal noises though. Reading his audience perfectly, he played the music from Fortnite’s default dance after being eliminated by Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop, offering perhaps the biggest laugh yet. While you can normally expect some kind of toxicity in your opponents’ death comms, it’s hard to know how you would react if you randomly hear a horse or a dolphin shouting down the mic at you. This is seriously funny, but could also really throw you off your game if you’re busy laughing mid-gunfight.

THE ADMIN SAID NO RESET AND HE IS ALLOWED TO CONTINUE PLAYING! — Fifakill (@Fifakill_) July 20, 2021 The streamer accused of cheating is called DavskaR, a Czech streamer who is partnered on Twitch, with over 8,000 followers. A number of clips have been shared on social media, which fellow players allege show the use of an aimbot. UK-based Warzone player Jukeyz posted a clip from a stream showing the same segment, surprised that the streamer was allowed to continue playing. An investigation was launched and the player in question was removed from the event. — CloudFuel (@CloudFuel) July 20, 2021 DavskaR banned on Twitch DavskaR’s Twitch channel is now no longer available on the platform, almost certainly due to a ban. Cheating in online games violates Twitch’s terms of service. Of course, if found to be cheating, DavskaR would also be banned from playing Warzone.

  • Warzone TTK stats reveal criminally underused Modern Warfare assault rifle – Dexerto

Warzone TTK stats reveal criminally underused Modern Warfare assault rifle ActivisionWarzone time-to-kill (TTK) statistics have revealed a criminally underused Modern Warfare assault rifle that dominates both Caldera and Rebirth Island after the Season 3 update. Warzone’s weapon pool naturally shifts as updates are pushed out by the developers. That is again the case following the Season 3 patch, which dropped on April 27. Among other things, weapon balancing was high on Raven’s list and a host of changes were introduced with the update. The Cold War XM4 was nerfed considerably, as were sniper rifles as a weapon category. As a result, other weapons are rising in prominence. One gun that remains incredibly low on the most picked list is the Oden, but TTK stats actually suggest it is one of the best ARs in the entire game. Highlighted on Reddit by player ‘Currentsleet11‘, the stats come from TrueGameData and reveal that, at close to medium ranges, there really is no other MW assault rifle that can compete with the Oden. While its viability drops off at longer ranges, its pure ability to tear through enemy armor and health makes it unparalleled in terms of damage. As one user said: “The Oden has always been underrated because of the slow fire rate and recoil.” It is true that the Oden’s kick can be difficult to control but, with the right attachments to augment its recoil and keep its handling solid, it shreds faster than almost any other weapon in the game. Because of the kick, it is most viable at close to medium ranges and paired with a sniper (because of the nerfs, probably the HDR). With just a 0.11% pick rate according to WZRanked, drop in with the Oden and get ahead of the curve.

  • Warzone trucks are randomly killing players without even moving – Dexerto

Warzone trucks are randomly killing players without even moving ActivisionA new Warzone bug is infuriating players across Verdansk, with ‘Bertha’ cargo trucks randomly killing players despite not even moving at the time. Vehicles are an integral part of the Warzone experience, with so much open space in a large Verdansk map, they’re often needed to get around and improve rotations. Despite this, they’re also incredibly frustrating for players. Cargo trucks in particular are a very hard counter if you don’t have a rocket launcher, which most players don’t often carry. Even the likes of Dr Disrespect have lost their patience with the ever-growing ‘truck meta’ in Warzone, which is especially prevalent in solo and duo lobbies. Now, though, if you’re not a fan of trucks in the game, your patience might be about to wear even thinner if this bug becomes more prevalent. As shown in the clip below from deyrajib, trucks might be starting to take on a mind of their own, wiping out players without even having to move. Deyrajib takes refuge in the back of a truck, trying to get a good line of sight on a passing driver without alerting them to their location, before just suddenly dying. It says he wasn’t killed by an enemy, and he even had a self-revive, so it looks like the truck entirely wiped him out of the game. One responder in the comments even said that their truck randomly exploded during a game, again saying in the killfeed that it wasn’t another player who killed them. While it doesn’t seem massively widespread right now, this issue is one that can seriously ruin games for players on any level, and devs Raven Software will want to investigate and fix it as soon as possible.

  • Warzone Trophy System buff makes vehicles even more powerful – Dexerto

Warzone Trophy System buff makes vehicles even more powerful ActivisionVehicles have commonly been regarded as one of Warzone’s most overpowered features, and after this buff, it looks like they’re going to get even stronger. Ever since Warzone first launched in March 2020, one of the most common complaints from players is how powerful vehicles are, especially trucks. They can down you in one hit while also allowing opponents to make a quick getaway, becoming hard to hit and leaving you much worse for wear. As a result, players have started utilizing explosives such as C4 and RPGs much more, but it looks like now vehicles might even be immune to those thanks to the Season 3 update. Season 3 of Warzone introduced a number of changes, and one of these includes a very particular update to Trophy Systems in the battle royale title, per Raven Software’s Creative Director Amos Hodge. Previously, Trophy Systems were simply to be thrown down in a room or area to protect you and your team from enemy explosives, but now they can be attached to vehicles, too – making them almost immune to explosive damage. This will come in handy when you’re trying to get away from a gunfight and keep your team protected, especially with how prevalent explosives are in the game now, but it seems to be a cause for concern for some players. Trophy Systems in #Warzone can be attached to vehicles now. The time out length on them is way to short in my opinion. But I have a feeling that may change in the future. — Amos Hodge (@wendellwobble) April 10, 2020 There are definitely two ways to look at this new update. While vehicles are very powerful, they are often used simply to get from one zone to the next, and it’s pretty frustrating driving around and having explosives randomly flung at you from different directions with no chance to counter. On the flip side, it’s also particularly frustrating having players running through you with a vehicle, especially when said vehicle is capable of killing you through walls. It remains to be seen how much this new change is utilized, or whether it really makes much of an impact at all, but Infinity Ward will be closely assessing the situation to see what they can do to make the Warzone experience even better.

  • Warzone troll figures out perfect way to sabotage enemy teams on Rebirth Island – Dexerto

Warzone troll figures out perfect way to sabotage enemy teams on Rebirth Island ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone’s Rebirth Island has a small map, so players get really up close and personal with each other. One player figured out the best way to absolutely troll their neighboring opponents. When you’re on the high ground in Rebirth Island, you can practically see the entire map. When you have resources at your disposal, that’s nice because you can find your next victims. When you have resources at your disposal, it can be a nightmare seeing teams of bad guys secure their loadouts. All that considered, there is perhaps no higher ground than the seat of a helicopter. And, even if you have zero armor or guns in pocket, a Warzone player has figured out how to use a chopper to gain an advantage. Locating an enemy team who just bought a loadout, ‘Hendrrix’ proceeds to swoop in, fly their chopper right under that box of goodies, and send it into the water. It’s honestly as glorious as it sounds. https://www.tiktok.com/@clipthatlad/video/6984022320897723654 As you can see, Hendrrix is a smooth navigator, quickly slipping below the loadout crate and tossing it into the sea. As he jokes about the troll behavior, the enemy team realizes and starts sending bullets his way. Unfortunately for them, it’s too late and they were better off spending that time looking for more money. Unlike accidentally throwing your loadout marker into the water, which can’t be done and automatically refreshes the drop in your inventory, this method has real consequences. If you want to pull this off yourself, it’s pretty simple. Grab a helicopter, float around looking for teams at buy stations, wait for that red smoke to appear, then fly toward it. The smoke makes it very easy to figure out where to wait and then, once the loadout box is on top of you, throw that thing away. Some people just want to game to have fun, others want to be menaces to society. This method helps you do both.

  • Warzone Trojan Horse theory: Was RICOCHET’s anti-cheat leak intentional? – Dexerto

Warzone Trojan Horse theory: Was RICOCHET’s anti-cheat leak intentional? Activision / Pexels, Kemal HayitCall of Duty’s highly anticipated RICOCHET Anti-Cheat was leaked to hackers, but an intriguing theory thinks that this was actually intentional. Instead of a security disaster, some think the Warzone anti-cheat leak was a Trojan Horse. Catching up to speed in the CoD and Warzone anti-cheat saga is fairly easy. Warzone (and CDL Challengers) had hacking problems and Activision announced an upcoming, proprietary RICOCHET Anti-Cheat. Then, within a day, the kernel-level driver was apparently leaked and hackers began reversing it. Another day later, Activision calmed concerns that this leak meant impending doom for the Warzone anti-cheat. The devs explained that the leaked build was “pre-release” and intentionally given to third parties for testing. And that’s where the Trojan Horse theory comes in, as some are speculating that it was supposed to end up with hackers — as a means to sabotage them. Warzone anti-cheat Trojan Horse theory Update from #TeamRicochet: ▶️ RICOCHET Anti-Cheat™ is in controlled live testing. Before putting it on your PC, we’re testing the hell out of it ▶️ Testing includes providing a pre-release version of the driver to select 3rd parties ▶️ Readying server-side upgrades for launch— Call of Duty (@CallofDuty) October 15, 2021 As you can see from CoD’s tweet, they didn’t seem particularly worried about the leaking and consequent anti-cheat reversing. This lends itself to the Trojan Horse theory, which was first raised by the New York Subliners’ Mavriq. The theory, in essence, suggests that “this was a controlled ‘leak’ done with a decoy file to throw cheat providers off and get them working to exploit vulnerabilities that don’t exist.” In doing so, hackers would be thrown off the trail of the real anti-cheat. Could malware have been hidden in the Warzone anti-cheat leak? Would be funny as hell if they hid malware in this and leaked it on purpose 🤣 https://t.co/iLcb3ZgmfU — Nick “ProReborn” (@ProRebornYT) October 14, 2021 While some hope that Activision’s security team hid malware in their leaked build, there hasn’t been much evidence of that. Instead, Mavriq explained that the leak felt “barebones” and “out-of-date.” So, the Trojan Horse might not be as exciting as a malware-infested build that would take down hackers from the inside. But, if it’s a rudimentary “pre-release” build, then there’s still hope that cheaters won’t be prepared for the final version when it finally launches.

  • Warzone trios returns this weekend in Modern Warfare playlist update – Dexerto

Warzone trios returns this weekend in Modern Warfare playlist update Infinity WardInfinity Ward has announced the return of Warzone trios this weekend in the title’s new playlist update, just days after first making the contentious call to remove the popular Modern Warfare battle royale mode. Season 3’s bumper April 8 patch introduced two new playlists for Warzone fans in quads and solos. As it turned out, however, these arriving modes came at the expense of launch playlist trios, and fans were less than pleased. Across the internet, the Call of Duty devs were slammed with backlash over the removal, and it seems like they were listening — trios is back. “A playlist update is rolling out now across all platforms! We’ve added BR Trios back into Warzone,” Infinity Ward’s announcement read. There’s been no indication as yet whether trios will be making a permanent return to CoD’s battle royale title, or if it’s simply a limited release for the weekend. For now though, solos, trios, and squads are all available in Warzone. 🚨A playlist update is rolling out now across all platforms! We’ve added BR Trios back into #Warzone!🚨 — Infinity Ward (@InfinityWard) April 10, 2020 While Infinity Ward seem to have listened to their fans, the re-release of trios hasn’t been as smooth as the devs may have liked. Players loading into the returning mode soon discovered Season 3’s loot updates haven’t carried over. According to CharlieIntel, trios “does not have the updated ground loot and loot pool update that Solos and Quads have after the Season 3 update.” On top of that, pre-season 3 loot is still appearing in the three-player mode. The devs have yet to acknowledge whether this is a deliberate decision, or a bug caused by rushing out the Trios playlist. Considering the efforts they put in to fix Warzone’s loot pool imbalance, however, it’s likely a glitch, not a feature. It currently looks like BR Trios does not have the updated ground loot and loot pool update that Solos and Quads have after Season 3 update. Trios seems to have the same pre-Season 3 loot. — CharlieIntel (@charlieINTEL) April 10, 2020 While Solos and Quads being added to Warzone were a major part of the Season 3 update, that’s not all Infinity Ward swapped up for Modern Warfare on April 8. The new patch also added a new battle pass, and two new guns. For a full rundown of everything outside of playlists that changed in this week’s major update, check out our full April 8 patch rundown here.

  • Warzone trio beat their own world record for kills in a single match – Dexerto

Warzone trio beat their own world record for kills in a single match Infinity WardA Call of Duty trio keeps pushing the benchmark for the most dominant game in Warzone by, once again, setting the world record for most kills in a single game. Time and again across battle royale titles, world record attempts for most kills in a single game are thwarted by dozens of factors ranging from loot RNG to just unlucky drops. But a team made up of Mark ‘Zepa’ Zepackic, ‘Lymax,’ and ‘Micka’ basically have these deep runs down to a science with yet another Warzone accolade. In the early life cycle of the battle royale, the Australian collective has outdone its best game multiple times with increasingly refined tactics. That’s led them to an astonishing 85 kill game, the best seen in the title thus far. “Night after night we just keep raising the bar,” Lymax said of the accomplishment. “This time we broke our previous Trios world record with a ridiculous 85 kill game. We were so calm throughout it, had no idea until the very end that we were even close.” Employing everything from creative rotations, sharp comms, their favorite loadouts, clutch decision-making, and more, the gameplay of the record run shows some of the best Warzone highlights to come out of the community. The three-man group have tasted similar victories before, coming off a then-record of 78 kills, and before that, a tally of 73 kills with Micka and Lymax teaming up with a player called ‘SETZ.’ Zepa led the charge in the 85-bomb match with 34 kills to his name while dealing a whopping 11,222 damage to opponents. Meanwhile, Lymax claimed the last kill in the match to get his 30th elimination with 8,629 damage, along with Micka’s 21 kills and 6910 damage. At the tail end of their video, one of the players can be heard saying their match “felt like an average game” before realizing they had broken their record, again. https://twitter.com/Lymaxx_/status/1245280171654909953 It’s this kind of dominant form that separates the best from the rest, letting the trio cap the world record three times in a row. Getting 85 kills out of a possible 147 kills is a little over 50% of the server, meaning there’s still a ton of room for the trio to outdo themselves once again. Make sure to check out our Warzone world records hub for an updated look at all of the current top marks in CoD’s newest battle royale.

  • Warzone trick-shotter goes viral with sniping twist on Battlefield’s “Rendezook” – Dexerto

Warzone trick-shotter goes viral with sniping twist on Battlefield’s “Rendezook” ActivisionA Call of Duty: Warzone player has gone viral across TikTok and Twitter as the game’s stars react to an absurd trick shot he hit, which is a sniping twist on Battlefield’s iconic “Rendezook” play. Trick shots are ingrained in Call of Duty culture so it should be no surprise that the community gets excited about new ones. And excitement is precisely what TikTok’s DarthTedwards got, as his clever snipe got serious gas from many of Warzone’s biggest streamers. CoD’s battle royale has seen 360 snipes, seat-swap kills, and a variety of weird instruments used to secure kills. But one trick shot that hasn’t quite been pulled off is the “Rendezook,” a maneuver made popular in Battlefield. The Rendezook is when a player jumps out of their aircraft, quickly destroys an enemy aircraft, and hops back into theirs while still mid-air (as can be seen in the Battlefield 2042 trailer). Although DarthTedward’s play isn’t identical, it’s a creative twist on the play — using a sniper and a helicopter in Verdansk. 100K views on TikTok? I only want one on here. If @IceManIsaac saw this it would make my year🥺🥺 #CallofDuty #warzone #Trickshot pic.twitter.com/RLv5lp8dGe — Teddward (@teddward_) June 12, 2021 As you can see in the clip, Darth floats his helicopter near an unsuspecting enemy, jumps out, snipes his victim with a Kar98, then manages to get back into the chopper’s driver’s seat before it crashes to the ground. He then stabilizes the helicopter, lets out an “I did it. Let’s go!” and goes along his merry way. And after the clip made its way to TikTok, where it quickly blew up, Darth was hoping streamer IceManIsaac might notice it on Twitter. It’s a nasty trick shot though, so he got much more than he wished for. This is insane 🤯 I want to see @NioRooch hit this with all the extra flair! https://t.co/AjWurIwbyb — Isaac (@IceManIsaac) June 12, 2021 Not only did Isaac respond and re-tweet it, other major streamers got involved as well. Among them, FaZe’s Warzone trick shot king, NioRooch gave it love — as well as content creators like JGOD, UnRationaL, JaredFPS, and Bartonologist. Now, all we need is someone to perfect the Rendezook in Warzone. Just need a pretty rare recipe to pull it off: RPG, helicopter, and an enemy helicopter. Maybe Darth will try to get that done next.

  • Warzone trick lets you land without pulling your parachute – Dexerto

Warzone trick lets you land without pulling your parachute ActivisionCall of Duty Warzone players have got a neat trick that allows them to land in certain places on Verdansk with needing to pull open their parachute. Ever since Warzone was released back in March, fans of the battle royale have been trying to find ways to get a leg up on their opponents. Be it through using different weapons, completing easter eggs to get free killstreaks, or abusing glitches, plenty of advantages have been found. One of the easiest tricks, at least that kill hungry players used for a while, is to dive into Verdansk while shooting a weapon. It can be a difficult one to balance the first time, because you’re falling headfirst, and trying to get kills – the ground comes at you pretty quickly. Many players will try and pull their parachute as late as possible, giving them plenty of time to try and get kills in the sky. However, some players have gone one step further and found a way to avoid using the parachute altogether. How to land in Warzone without a parachute It comes from Reddit user Thexer0, who showed that if you’re dropping into Verdansk, you can actually land on different surfaces without the parachute. While you should slam into the ground and need to be picked up, as the Redditor shows by using a Satellite dish, you can hit certain edges of items and land on your feet. With the dish, the player simply slides off the curved edge, and pulls out their starting pistol. As Thexer0 points out, it is something to use “at your own risk” given that, if it’s not on the correct surface, you will find yourself looking a bit stupid and needing help right away. However, if you think it’s just a one-off lucky trick, well, you’d be wrong. Other players quickly noted that it’s worked for them too. “You can do it as well with some of the telephone/electrical towers,” said one. “It works on stones and stuff too. You gotta land on the edges, something around 45 degrees,” added another. Obviously, it’s not a trick that’s going to help everyone – and it might not even be all that useful, in terms of getting a win, to those that can master it. But it’s definitely a neat party trick for those that can pull it off.

  • Warzone tournaments could be ruined as private matches have different stats – Dexerto

Warzone tournaments could be ruined as private matches have different stats ActivisionWarzone tournaments in Caldera could be in jeopardy, as it’s been discovered that private and public matches are different builds of the game and with different stats. While Warzone has been a wildly successful casual game, there is a strong group of elite talent that regularly dominates lobbies and compete against each other for millions of dollars. Players like Aydan, Tommey, HusKerrs, and more will often be found juking it out in custom lobbies against one another in tournaments such as the World Series of Warzone. One major issue has popped up ahead of the inevitable influx of Warzone Pacific custom tournaments, though — and it could be a nightmare for Warzone pros to adjust to. For most top competitors in any game or esport, being able to get reps in is of the utmost importance. For Warzone players, that means finding the best meta weapons, practicing with them, and learning the perfect way to play the game. Read More: Warzone devs respond to FPS complaints – As it turns out, with the release of new map Caldera amid the Vanguard integration, this might not be possible right now, if a worrying tweet from TrueGameData turns out to be accurate. “I just confirmed 100% that private matches and public matches are not the same build of the game and can have different stats,” the tweet said. I just confirmed 100% that private matches and public matches are not the same build of the game and can have different stats…. — 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 (@TrueGameData) December 12, 2021 Fellow YouTube Warzone guru JGOD followed up saying that the issue is “mindblowing” to him considering they only have to ‘plug the info into the appropriate spreadsheets.’ This is mind blowing to me especially when all they needed to do was post every weapon with these details, Would have taken like 45 min to plug the info in to the appropriate spreadsheets, but no that would be too easy. pic.twitter.com/sVdfY8ehyR — James – JGOD (@JGODYT) December 12, 2021 This will likely ring alarm bells to Warzone competitors, who are still trying to find their feet in Caldera and discover the best weapons, rotations, and how best to maximize their chances of winning. With some big tournaments coming up, such as the $100k Baka Bros WonderLAN, Warzone’s best will be hoping that the differences aren’t too severe.

  • Warzone tournament postponed after Aydan & Tommey drop out over “rigged” teams – Dexerto

Warzone tournament postponed after Aydan & Tommey drop out over “rigged” teams ActivisionThere’s never a dull day in the Call of Duty: Warzone community, and July 23 was no exception, as Aydan and Tommey’s teams backed out of a $10K tournament due to unfair teams. Now, that $10K event has been changed and postponed. So, eFuse wanted to try something new for their latest Warzone tournament. Putting $10,000 on the line, they thought it might be fun to do a “casters and creators”-style event, with one casual caster teamed with two grinders on each team. As far as restrictions on eligible casters, eFuse said they needed to have casted at $1,000 in Warzone tournament prize pools and never have won an eFuse event. Little did they know, some pretty cracked players met those requirements. After seeing some of the teams created for the event, Tommey decided to back out on the day of. Similarly troubled by the types of “casters” allowed, Aydan and Rated also dropped out. Subsequently, eFuse heard the noise and postponed. Opting out of the tournament today. It was meant to be a fun tournament with casters who spend their days talking over our gameplay, having a chance to now play alongside and compete against their peers. Sucks when people see a prize pool and only that. — Tommey (@Tommey) July 23, 2021 Opting out of that caster $10k because the teams are rugged. I may still stream today, but packing is first priority. I’ll keep ya’ll updated. 👍 — Aydan (@aydan) July 23, 2021 As you can tell from Tom and Aydan’s tweets, there was some spice surrounding the event. One can only imagine Aydan sweating in rage, slipping and typing “rugged” instead of “rigged,” while Tom focused on how much the situation “sucks.” Rage-induced sweat jokes aside though, what happened is simple: two “casters” had more playing experience than casting experience. HusKerrs and Newbz wanted to play with GaGOD, while ScummN and UnRationaL wanted to play with Angelwalks. Both GaGOD and Angewalks are known more for their play than their casting, so there was some dispute over their eligibility. While much of the drama spilled onto the timeline, eFuse then stepped up and decided to shift gears. After deliberating w/ our team & hearing the community, we will be re-scheduling the #CommunityShowdown to Wed 7/28. Our focus is to spotlight and celebrate the AMAZING casters of the Warzone community by organizing an event around THEM. — erena (@erenaGG) July 23, 2021 As the organizers explained, the caster tournament will be rescheduled for July 28 and the format will change. Instead of players picking casters, eFuse will select 16 casters to act as captains and pick their teammates. Although K/D or earnings caps for casters could have solved this issue in advance, the community seems glad with this solution. Now, we just wait and find out if Angelwalks and GaGOD get captain spots.

  • Warzone tournament match ends in agony as devastating bug appears at worst moment – Dexerto

Warzone tournament match ends in agony as devastating bug appears at worst moment ActivisionA Warzone tournament match ended in the most devastating way possible as a game-breaking bug interrupted what could have been a crucial last-moment clutch. Without a ranked mode in Warzone, players have to look outside the game for some top-tier competition. Given elite tournaments with six-figure prize pools are often on an invite-only basis, this leaves space for community-run events like the Z League. Hundreds often flock to these regular tournaments to test their skills and earn some cash on the side. As you would expect, games during these events are more intense than usual with everyone gunning for the top spot. While misplays in the heat of the moment are bad enough, there’s nothing worse than having a loss be out of your hands. That’s exactly what happened on March 29 when a budding Warzone amateur fell victim to a game-ruining glitch in the final moments of an event. The latest Z League event came down to the wire as players battled through the newly revamped version of Rebirth Island. With four Operators left standing, just one point was between Reddit user ‘j-thrill’ and a tournament win. As the final zone began to move, they appeared to be in the perfect position for a sneaky kill. An enemy dropped down in front of them and it all seemed to line up, until disaster struck. The opposing player snapped around and instantly gunned them down, seemingly through some terrain. From their POV, the enemy had just shot them through the map. From the opposing POV, however, there was no terrain in sight to block their shots. It turns out, a rendering issue caused textures to bug out on Rebirth. Unfortunately for the player about to win, this glitch occurred at the worst possible moment. “I was clearly going to wait until I came around that ‘hill,’” they explained. “Was very pissed when my killcam showed that there was no hill at all. Devs need to get their game fixed.” There’s no telling exactly how much was at stake in this particular event. Though being that close to a win and having it stripped away, would clearly hurt regardless of the prizing. • Warzone to bring back Verdansk in Treyarch’s Call of Duty 2024 – Dexerto

Warzone to bring back Verdansk in Treyarch’s Call of Duty 2024 ActivisionTreyarch will be bringing Verdansk back to Warzone with their Call of Duty title releasing in the fall of 2024. Warzone has taken over the CoD scene by giving players a different experience from its multiplayer mode-based counterpart. Released alongside Modern Warfare in 2019, Warzone was first shaped around Verdansk. Verdansk was removed from Warzone in 2021 and replaced by Caldera. This coincided with the release of CoD Vangaurd’s Season 1 update. Warzone has gone through four maps, with the current one being Urzikstan, which was brought with Modern Warfare 3. Despite multiple map iterations, Warzone fans still have Verdansk in mind. Fans of the franchise have called for Verdansk to return and have shamed the maps that came after. Now, Warzone fans will be able to enjoy Verdansk again when Treyarch takes the wheel in 2024. Treyarch answers fans’ pleads to bring back Verdansk Verdansk will be brought back at the hands of Treyarch, who are responsible for the famous Black Ops franchise. In addition to Verdansk returning to Warzone according to the reports above, the next CoD title has also recieved a name. Treyarch will be continuing it’s Black Ops streak by releasing Black Ops Gulf War at the end of next year. It will have been two years since Treyarch last developed a CoD title.

  • Warzone Titanium Trials LTM explained: Start date & how it works – Dexerto

Warzone Titanium Trials LTM explained: Start date & how it works ActivisionWarzone Season 4 Reloaded will be adding the Titanium Trials LTM, a shake-up of the usual Iron Trials LTM, and here’s everything you need to know about the new game mode. “I’ll be back” is what Iron Trials said the last time it left Warzone, and it is, only, it’s taking on a new Terminator-inspired persona for Warzone Season 4 Reloaded. The arrival of the T-800 and T-1000 Terminator skins have signaled the need for something a bit more special this time around, and Raven has duly delivered with the Titanium Trials in Warzone Pacific Season 4. Let’s go through the differences in the new game mode, as well as familiar elements. When does Titanium Trials go live in CoD Warzone? Players eager to dive into the chaos of the Titanium Trials will be pleased to know that they can do so on August 11, 2022. But make sure you get plenty of games in as the LTM will only be sticking around for two weeks from its inception! Titanium Trials Endurance in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded One of the ways in which the Titanium Trials lives up to its name is the focus on the game mode’s time-to-kill – it’s very high. It also messes around with a few of the other variables that we’ve come to expect from standard Iron Trials too. Player count Expect a full quota of players for Titanium Trials as up to 152 players will be able to drop into a game and start unloading on each other. HP & Armor Each player’s armor health will be rising to a maximum of 300 HP to simulate the protection that a T-800 or T-1000 would receive. Also, Raven has confirmed that it will take longer to restore your base health if you’re damaged by an opponent, and everyone will also start with a self-revive. To aid the restoration of armor plates and replenish your supplies much quicker, the Tempered Perk will be plentiful around the map. Weapons & Ground Loot As well as changes to the health system, Titanium Trials will also come with a specially crafted pool of loot to discover, to complement the refined TTK. Raven has promised “exceedingly rare Redacted Weapons” and also said that there will be “fewer overall resources” to claim on the battlefield, encouraging more combat. Another reason for the push towards aggressive gunplay is that the cost of loadouts, the same as the old Iron Trials, are also way more expensive, so players are urged to seek out other players, kill them, and claim their money. The starting price of a Loadout will reportedly set you back a hefty amount but will come down in price as each subsequent circle closes. • Warzone TikToker wins cheeky “roleplay” bet with girlfriend after epic 30 kill game – Dexerto

Warzone TikToker wins cheeky “roleplay” bet with girlfriend after epic 30 kill game IP Impact, TikTokA Warzone player has gone viral on TikTok after his girlfriend says if he gets 30 kills and wins a game, he can pick the roleplay for the evening… Guess what? He knocked it out of the park. In each game of Call of Duty’s popular battle royale title, Warzone, up to 150 players can join in teams or as solos. While this does open up the opportunity of killstreaks that are almost unobtainable in Apex Legends and Fortnite, it takes a really skilled shooter to reach the 30 elimination mark in one outing. Popular Twitch streamer and TikTok content creator, IP Impact, posted a video on April 15 that has been racking up interactions – where he did just that. Warzone player wins big bet on TikTok His partner, Parajsa Pali, picked possibly one of the hardest challenges she could, in saying he had to win with such a high kill total. But quickly into the video, it was shown that Impact was more than up to the task. She says: “Win this game with more than 30 kills and I’ll let you pick the roleplay tonight,” meaning if he gets the W, she will wear whatever he wants that night. The self-professed Saiyan Sniper Prince then rolls the tape of a killing spree, where he manages to pick up the victory in exactly the way that was requested. (Click here if the TikTok doesn’t load) As seen in the TikTok above, which has almost 170,000 likes at the time of writing, the Warzone demon rotates between a sniper and submachine gun to tear through his opponents. Once the bet had been won and it was time to cash in, the options for roleplay were obviously endless. However, while viewers might have expected that part of the wager to be kept private, a last-minute twist in the tale saw the pair dancing the night away in traditional Albanian clothing. In the comments, IP Impact posted: “Not the role play my wife was thinking of!” Another replied: “Man, you’re way too good for this game to handle.” Well, it might not have been the roleplay his wife was expecting, though it was certainly a fun way to celebrate the achievement.

  • Warzone TikToker trolls players with brutal ‘legal aimbot’ prank – Dexerto

Warzone TikToker trolls players with brutal ‘legal aimbot’ prank ActivisionWarzone’s anti-cheat system cracks down on most suspicious activity — but a TikToker may have found a “legal aimbot,” and its name is the NZ-41. You heard that right. The NZ-41 recently overtook the STG44 as the most popular gun in Warzone – and for good reason. The Vanguard AR melts enemies from virtually any range and has little to no recoil, essentially making it a “legal aimbot.” The Season 4 update surprisingly buffed the NZ-41 even more, increasing the weapon’s muzzle velocity by a whopping 40%. Understandably, the Warzone devs hinted that an NZ-41 nerf may be coming soon. A Warzone TikToker trolled players by telling players saying there is a “legal aimbot” in the game settings, but instead just showed off an overpowered NZ-41 loadout. Warzone TikToker trolls players with NZ-41 loadout In the video below, Warzone TikToker cuppajoe5 shared his NZ-41 loadout, after initially making it seem like there was a secret in the settings. Tully Auckland, a senior game designer at Raven, said: “Agreed, it’s not where I’d like it to be right now. There are weapons designed to be easy to use, the NZ isn’t one of them.” Make sure to give this NZ-41 loadout a try for yourself before it is too late.

  • Warzone TikToker reveals his Blixen loadout after one mag squad wipe – Dexerto

Warzone TikToker reveals his Blixen loadout after one mag squad wipe ActivisionWarzone content creator Zyro has gone viral on TikTok for wiping out an entire squad with one magazine, leaving fans wanting to know what his H4 Blixen loadout looks like. The Blixen was the predominant Warzone submachine gun, prompting two substantial nerfs. First, the powerful SMG received damage nerfs in the Season 4 Reloaded update. The developers doubled down in Warzone’s August 8 update, further decreasing the weapon’s maximum damage. The highly versatile firearm no longer lasers enemies from range, but the H4 Blixen is still an excellent selection for close-range combat. Both updates accomplished their goal, finally dethroning the H4 Blixen as the most selected Warzone SMG. The Armaguerra passed the H4 Blixen in pick rate, according to WZRanked. Despite crowing a new SMG king in town, Warzone content creator Zyro’s H4 Blixen class appears to be immune to the latest nerfs. Zyro reveals deadly H4 Blixen loadout Zyro is a Twitch partner and releases daily Warzone YouTube videos. The Warzone player’s random teammate incessantly warned him to “run away,” but they quickly silenced his unfaithful teammate by taking down an entire squad with one H4 Blixen magazine. Zyro labeled his H4 Blixen class as the “best SMG” build in Warzone. Here is the full loadout, if you would like to try it out: Muzzle: Recoil Booster – Barrell: Karlsson 17″ Custom – Optic: Slate Reflector – Stock: Removed Stock – Underbarrel: Taped Grip – Magazine: 72-round magazine – Rear Grip: SG98 Compact – Ammunition: Lengthened – Perk 1: Fleet – Perk 2: Quick – Zyro’s loadout emphasizes close-range combat and excels in simultaneously taking on multiple enemies. An alternative is our best H4 Blixen Warzone loadout. This one maximizes the weapon’s accuracy, fire rate, mobility, and damage, making it versatile in any engagement. Give either loadout a try for yourself and discover why the SMG still melts in Warzone.

  • Warzone TikTok reveals FOV cheat that gives players zero recoil – Dexerto

Warzone TikTok reveals FOV cheat that gives players zero recoil ActivisionA viral Warzone TikTok has revealed that cheaters are ramping things up a notch, creating tools that further increase your FOV to the point where weapons don’t have any recoil. It’s no secret that Warzone has struggled mightily with cheaters over the last year or so. Everything from god mode to wall hacks, aim bots, and speed boosts have been seen in Verdansk. Raven Software and Activision have put steps in place to try and crackdown on cheaters – and will finally add an anti-cheat system with the integration of Vanguard – but, for now, hackers still appear to be a few steps ahead. While we’re in the late stages of Black Ops Cold War cycle, hackers are still developing fresh tools, at least for PC cheaters, and a new one looks to give weapons absolutely zero recoil as players utilize a wider FOV than ever before. The new hack has been doing the rounds on TikTok as its shows the wide FOV – stated to be at around 400, as crazy as that sounds – which, for some reason, seemingly allows them to shoot lasers. Of course, as the player in the video takes down the enemies that surround them, it doesn’t take long for those fallen foes to call out that something is wrong. Naturally, they believe an aimbot is being used because of the lack of recoil. According to one of the posts showing off the cheat, it hasn’t been released to the wider Warzone community yet, so running into someone using it will likely be rare. Though, as the video shows, it is out there. Naturally, the viral post had some Warzone fans incredulous. “Is it really that easy to exploit the game?!” asked one. “At this point y’all just making fun of console players,” added another. Some players suggested that, at this point, hackers will probably move on to third-person cheats, which have been seen in normal multiplayer modes. As these cheats continue to pop up, some fans and content creators have questioned if the upcoming anti-cheat will actually wipe them out, but that just remains to be seen.

  • Warzone TikTok MP40 loadout is perfect for dominating on Rebirth Island – Dexerto

Warzone TikTok MP40 loadout is perfect for dominating on Rebirth Island ActivisionTikTok is primarily be a goldmine of entertainment but it hides some great gaming tips in its underbelly. This viral MP40 loadout is a little different than usual but it absolutely wrecks shop on Rebirth Island. There’s a new MP40 build floating around on TikTok and it is absolutely infuriating to play against. Between its built-in agility and lightning-fast time-to-kill, there’s nothing this version of a Warzone staple can’t do. If you want to get in on the fun and make everyone else question their sanity, then we’ve got all the details you need. TikTok’s best MP40 loadout for Rebirth This version of the gun veers away from the standard F8 Stabilizer and the Krausnick 317mm barrel that most players are accustomed to. Instead, it opts for speed and stealth over long-range utility. The final result is a quick-hitting SMG that absolutely dominates the intense pacing of Rebirth Island. Muzzle: M1929 Silencer – Barrel: VDD 189mm Short – Optic: Krausnick ISO1M – Stock: Removed Stock – Underbarrel: SMLE Pistol Grip – Magazine: .62 Gorenko 45 Round Mag – Ammo Type: Hollow Point – Rear Grip: Hatched Grip – Proficiency: Perfectionist – Kit: Quick – Adding the Perfectionist perk back into the mix helps make up for the loss of accuracy from before and the .62 Gorenko 45 Round Mag ensures you have plenty of bullets if those long-distance fights start to drag on for a while. The Hatched Grip is good for an additional accuracy boost and will keep your shots stable even on the most slippery of targets. This loadout’s big advantage over its competition is based largely on its speed. While the OTs 9 is still the gun with the fastest side-to-side strafe speed, this one will still have you zooming around the map with no worry of being chased down. If you’re looking for a good gun to pair with this beast, then consider throwing on the Volk loadout that has burst onto the scene. Featuring an awesome TTK and similarly unbeatable mobility for an AR, these two are a match made in Rebirth heaven.

  • Warzone TikTok loadout reveals MP5 is still “hip fire meta” after 13 nerfs – Dexerto

Warzone TikTok loadout reveals MP5 is still “hip fire meta” after 13 nerfs Activision / Infinity WardA TikTok showcasing a “meta” loadout for Modern Warfare’s MP5 show’s that despite numerous nerfs, the submachine gun is still an absolute menace in Warzone. The MP5 has long been one of Call of Duty Warzone’s premier Submachine Guns, with players and content creators calling it “broken” many times in the past. Despite numerous nerfs over the years, the MP5 is still an absolute beast of an SMG thanks to its accuracy and easy recoil control. Now a viral TikTok shared a loadout for the MP5 that showcases exactly why it’s the “hip fire meta” despite the abundance of nerfs. Warzone TikTok reveals MP5 hip fire loadout The loadout comes by way of Superavrage on TikTok through his series ‘Making Modern Warfare metas.’ In the video, Superavrage explains that despite nerfing the SMG “13 times” the development team hasn’t found a decent way to stop the gun’s dominance. It’s important to note that this loadout focuses on the Modern Warfare version of the MP5, not the version from Black Ops Cold War. Superavrage’s loadout uses the Mono Integral Suppressor Barrel, the Merc Foregrip Underbarrel, 45 Round Magazine, 5mW Laser, and the FTAC Collapsible Stock as attachments. As Superavrage mentions in the video, this loadout is meant to capitalize on the MP5’s hip fire potential, as the Merc Foregrip, 5mW Laser, and TAC Collapsible Stock all shrink the hip fire area. Additionally, the loadout helps to speed up things like bullet velocity, sprint to fire time, ADS time, and movement speed. As such, players looking to run this loadout are going to want to keep fights up close and personal. Players who want to close fights out quickly can take a cue from Superavrage’s video and bring along a throwing knife to efficiently eliminate downed targets with ease.

  • Warzone TikTok goes viral as player begs others not to use Cooper Carbine – Dexerto

Warzone TikTok goes viral as player begs others not to use Cooper Carbine Activision / PixabayA Call of Duty: Warzone TikTok went viral as a player showcased some dominant Cooper Carbine gameplay while telling players they should absolutely not, under any circumstances, use the AR. When you’re shooting at bad guys in Warzone, it’s fun to have a good gun. When the bad guys are shooting at you, it’s not so fun when they have a good gun. So, in the spirit of having fun, TikTok user ‘itsjibb’ made a video asking people not to use the Cooper Carbine. His caption reads “DO NOT USE THIS GUN” and the first thing you hear in the video is also “do not use this gun.” Then, you watch the gameplay, and… you can’t help but wonder if he’s just trying to keep the loadout to himself. Viral Warzone TikTok says not to use Cooper Carbine loadout As you can hear in the video, Jibb doesn’t want people using the Cooper. As he explains, “this is probably the worst gun in Vanguard so I definitely don’t recommend using it.” Going further, he says not to “waste your time leveling it up” and recommends the MP-40 instead. As you can see in the video, his words don’t quite match the footage. The two Cooper loadouts, one close-range and one long-range, are both deadly – barely moving while beaming all sorts of enemies. In the end, Jibb does show the two Cooper Carbine loadouts they used. So, if you are interested in defying their request and testing the weapon out yourself, TikTok’s pause feature is your friend. While the video went viral after being posted on December 12, the Cooper was adjusted in the Season 1.5 patch. JGOD doesn’t seem to think it was exactly buffed or nerfed, though, so it obviously still has real potential. If you’re not quite sold on Jibb’s loadouts, though, you can feel free to check out Swagg’s Cooper class or our very own.

  • Warzone TikTok breaking down a pro’s 1v7 is absolute comedy gold – Dexerto

Warzone TikTok breaking down a pro’s 1v7 is absolute comedy gold ActivisionSometimes you just want to peek into the minds of Warzone’s best players. And that’s exactly what a TikToker did, as they gave an absurd Newbz 1v7 clip an explicit, trash-talking voiceover. Edy ‘Newbz’ Juan is one of the best Call of Duty: Warzone players in the world. After a rough time in CoD’s Challengers and amateur scene, the demon has made it into the top 10 Warzone earners with over $100K. As far as characters go, Newbz is on the quieter side of streamers — preferring to let his game do the talking. Well, that’s not enough for TikTok’s ‘luxxxreno,’ who decided to take a dive into the pro’s subconscious and give a live play-by-play of a wild clip. The 1v7 is nutty on its own, but the commentary is comedy gold. This @TBE_Newbzz play-by-play is absolute gold 😭 (via @LuxxReno) pic.twitter.com/kaJ8Vad9ju — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) July 18, 2021 Things start strong, with Newbz pulling out his Heartbeat Detector and luxxxreno describing it perfectly: “I whip out the s**tter detector.” The rest is a glorious melange of big plays and bigger swear words. Newbz sees “three donnies,” survives their double-C4 traps, and outplays them with the tricks of a madman — and he’s still not done. Next, more people are heard downstairs, and as luxxxreno so eloquently puts it: “I pop a UAV, I pop a deady, I get my f**king d**k out — and I run at them with that s**t swinging between my legs.” By the end of the video, Newbz has killed enough people to make two clips and luxxxreno has narrated it all in foul-mouthed glory. The streamer saw the clip himself, and was sure to toss some laughing emojis on in support. Kudos have to be given after a video like this. First, to Newbz for being a menace in Verdansk. Second, to luxxxreno for narrating the clip perfectly (and shutting down a homophobe in the process). And third, saving the best for last, a big thank you to the seven souls whose tombstones form the foundation of this quality content (which already has over two million views on TikTok).

Warzone The Haunting update patch notes: Zombie Royale, Operation Nightmare, more The Haunting event returns to Warzone, this time featuring Zombie Royale, a night-time variant of Vondel, and more. Many fans still consider “The Haunting of Verdansk” Halloween event in 2020 as one of Warzone’s crowning achievements. Instead of a traditional battle royale format, players turned into zombies when they were killed, creating a mini-outbreak during matches. Rebirth of the Dead brought the idea back in 2022, this time adding more powers and abilities for the zombie players. And now, Warzone’s latest Haunting event takes inspiration from previous iterations, combining the best elements of both. Let’s jump right into what fans can expect from this Halloween season. Warzone The Haunting Vondead, reinforcement flare nerf, more Usually, mid-season updates come with weapon-balancing updates. As for what The Haunting does add, the map variant of Vondel finally addresses a long-standing complaint. The introduction of Water combat has divided fans since Warzone 2 first launched, and Vondead removes water from the canals of Vondel. • Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone Season 6 brings back The Haunting event – Dexerto

Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone Season 6 brings back The Haunting event ActivisionModern Warfare 3 and Warzone confirmed that Season 6 starts on Sept. 18 and revealed that The Haunting event is returning. The Haunting of Verdansk Halloween event in 2020 became an instant hit. Instead of a traditional battle royale format, players turned into zombies when they were killed, creating a mini-outbreak during matches. Rebirth of the Dead brought the idea back in 2022, adding more powers and abilities for the zombie players. In the following year, Operation Nightmare brought back the event and added a few more innovations. Activision did not confirm what this event has in store, but the first trailer provided some clues. First, Modern Warfare 3 revealed Michael Myers from the “Halloween” horror movie series as an operator. Ironically, Mike Myers has been the name of a community-created game mode that’s been around in Call of Duty for years. Only one player can use their knife, while everyone else tries to stay alive before the timer runs out. And then the player who survived the longest becomes Myers in the next round. Re-experiencing this game mode in an actual Myers-operator skin would be a treat. Meanwhile, we also got brief glimpses at other operator skins coming, including collaborations with the “Terrifier” and “Smile” horror movie franchises. This lines up perfectly as the third “Terrifier” movie launches on Oct. 11, while the new “Smile” movie releases on October 18. We also looked at a few other Halloween-inspired operator skins coming to the new season. Modern Warfare 2’s iteration of Warzone introduced several otherworldly creatures for players to defeat, and this time around, users will have their hands full dealing with a Ghost Zombie monster with three heads. We will provide an update when Activision releases a preview blog for the upcoming seasonal update. In the meantime, check out our guide on the current Weekly Challenges.

  • Warzone test reveals MAC-10 Blueprint is stronger than base weapon – Dexerto

Warzone test reveals MAC-10 Blueprint is stronger than base weapon ActivisionCertain weapon Blueprints have been determined more powerful than their default counterparts in Warzone, including one for the MAC-10, according to new tests following the January 6 update. Weapon Blueprints are supposed to provide options to Warzone players. From visual flair to unique attachment setups, their purpose is to simply stand out out from the base version of particular guns. However, recent tests have revealed key differences between standard guns and their various Blueprints. Rather than simply changing the appearance, Blueprints have been found to alter performance. Black Ops Cold War’s MAC-10 is one particular weapon in focus. Following a set of January 6 nerfs, it appears as though the Blueprints for this SMG are still as powerful as they were before. The time has come. 📄#Warzone update going live: – DMR 14 – Reduced headshot damage, increased recoil – Type 63 – Reduced headshot damage, increased recoil – Mac-10 – Decreased headshot multiplier – Dual pistols – Increased hip fire spread, decreased damage range— Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) January 6, 2021 Reducing the headshot multiplier effect for the MAC-10 was the intention of the latest patch. Having dominated the meta for most of Season One, this was a way to scale the gun back slightly. Unfortunately, these adjustments only seem to have applied to the default gun. While testing the Gallantry Blueprint for the MAC-10 without any attachments, Warzone YouTuber ‘JGOD’ noticed some differences. First up, damage hasn’t been scaled down whatsoever. From a relatively close range, this version of the gun still deals 40 damage for a shot to the head. “This isn’t working as intended,” he stressed. The recent patch brought the base version of the gun down to 30 damage per headshot. What might be a simple oversight from the developers could have drastic implications on Warzone. Until a new hotfix is deployed, players will still essentially be able to use the pre-nerf version of the MAC-10. Alongside this damage discrepancy, JGOD also noticed two other key factors. Recoil was considerably easier to control with the Blueprint version of the SMG. Rather than an ‘S-type’ recoil pattern from the standard gun, the Gallantry version comes with a simpler pattern that tracks up and to the right. Moreover, the hipfire crosshair is slightly more honed in with the Blueprint weapon as well. Again, this is without any attachments equipped. With all of these differences added up, it’s undeniable that there are real performance differences. Read more: Warzone finisher would have let you teabag – Raven Software is yet to respond to these issues. For the time being, there’s no telling what other weapons this might affect. Various Blueprints could be outright stronger than their default options until a new patch is deployed.
