Warzone pros JoeWo, Symfunhy, more excited as devs announce weapon bloom removal RavenSo/ActivisionRaven Software has announced that weapon bloom will be removed from all guns in Warzone, and pro players like JoeWo and Symfuhny are just a few that are celebrating the occasion. The concept of randomized weapon bloom comes from Call of Duty Vanguard and was added to Warzone to keep things even between the two experiences. Bloom is a system that makes it harder to guess where each bullet a player fires is going to land. While your aim could be spot-on, bloom destabilizes the predicted landing spot. While Warzone Pacific has only been available for three days yet, Raven has decided to pull the concept from the game entirely, starting with a drastic nerf as they find a way to balance the weapons in another fashion. Pros react to Warzone removing weapon bloom Raven announced this change in the December 10 update patch notes and it took no time at all for the community to share their feelings about the decision. On the competitive side of things, NRG’s JoeWo led the party by declaring his passion for the lead studio behind Warzone: “We [love] Raven!” Fellow Warzone star Symfuhny joined in on the celebration by thanking the devs for listening to player feedback in their game: “This is huge! Thank you.” 100T’s Tommey also showed the studio some love for how fast they have been rolling out improvements since the launch of Warzone Pacific: “Updates and fixes flying out, love it.” Pros aren’t the only ones who are happy about the fix though, as even the casual community is getting in on the fun. In reply to Raven’s announcement one user joked about how this fix might save their gameplay: “Maybe I’ll finally be able to shoot straight.” There are still plenty of problems for the studio to take care of, like the crashing problems on PlayStation and the dreaded “demon gun” texture that has recently returned. However, this change has been widely welcomed by players, which is a positive for Raven.

Warzone pros’ favorite new reticle: How to unlock ‘Scalpel’ 3x Green Dot – Dexerto
Warzone pros’ favorite new reticle: How to unlock ‘Scalpel’ 3x Green Dot ActivisionIt’s a lot easier to kill bad guys in Warzone when you can see them. And that’s why a new Zombies reticle has caught the eyes of pros and streamers. Here’s how to unlock the Axial Arms 3x ‘Scalpel’ Green Dot. Like Modern Warfare’s VLK T-Pose and Corp Combat Blue Dot, Call of Duty: Warzone players have always cared for certain reticles over others. And, often, that means grinding it out to give yourself as clean a shot as possible. While Black Ops Cold War’s default Axial Arms 3x (basically the game’s version of the VLK) has some great reticles already, a new one has been popping up. Unlike the Precision or default on certain blueprints, this one combines a small dot with a clean crosshair. Called the ‘Scalpel,’ the green dot reticle can only be unlocked in Zombies. But it’s actually really simple to do so and shouldn’t take players much time at all — even if they’re alone for the grind. Fastest way to unlock the ‘Scalpel’ Green Dot reticle There are a number of maps and modes where you can unlock the Scalpel Green Dot in Zombies, but we’ll simply list out the quickest method we’ve found. Open Zombies in Black Ops Cold War – Equip an AR with fast-ADS attachments and an Axial Arms 3x – Load into the new “Forsaken” Zombies map – Farm kills, making sure to create distance and aim down sights to kill bunches at a time – Rinse and repeat until 500 kills – In order to unlock the Scalpel Green Dot for your Axial Arms 3x, you need to hit 500 kills in Zombies while aiming down sights. As such, it’s better to use a fast-ADS, high-mobility gun (like the FFAR) so you can create distance and shoot quickly. The Forsaken map is perfect for accomplishing this, as zombies spawn instantly and you don’t have to wait around. You can do this by yourself or, if you decide to do it with friends, there’s a power-up you can find to speed up the rounds. Warzone pros and streamers dub ‘Scalpel’ Green Dot the “best reticle” WHO OWNS THE EM2 WITH THE PRECISION LOOKING GREEN DOT I need to know what that reticle is immediately — Rhys Price (@Rated_COD) October 13, 2021 As you can see from Rhys ‘Rated’ Price’s tweet and IceManIsaac’s clip, the game’s best players all about this new reticle. Rated said he needs it “immediately” and Isaac said it will “blow your mind.” Oh, and another top earner, Jukeyz, also instantly asked how to unlock it. And the answer is a simple one: hit Forsaken with a fast-ADS, high-mobility AR using the Axial Arms and farm away. In total, this method shouldn’t take longer than about 30 minutes. As JGOD mentioned to Rated, it can even take just about 15-20 minutes if you play your cards right.

Warzone pros expose pay-to-win Bullfrog Blueprint that ruins game audio – Dexerto
Warzone pros expose pay-to-win Bullfrog Blueprint that ruins game audio ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone pros have revealed a (presumably) bugged Bullfrog Blueprint, which is essentially a pay-to-win cosmetic since it completely ruins audio cues for your opponents. For a free game to be competitive, it’s vital that purchasable items do not compromise the experience by giving paying players an unfair advantage. That’s why there was drama when a Modern Warfare HDR Blueprint had better iron sights than the standard ones you can grind for. And that’s why the P2W (pay-to-win) SBMM (skill-based matchmaking) rumors were labeled “horrifying.” But a new Bullfrog Blueprint might be even worse than the original HDR, as it can confuse the life out of your enemies by making it sound like they’re being shot from every angle. Already a source of tournament drama, ZLaner showed Dr Disrespect and viewers just how bad it is. Pay-to-win Bullfrog Blueprint in Warzone? 😬 After some tourney drama, @ZLanerOFFICIAL, aided by @TimTheTatman, showed @DrDisrespect how the gun messes with your game audio… pic.twitter.com/ChPbQC3ymf — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) September 23, 2021 As you can see in the clip, Z brings Doc over to a corner and asks their teammate, TimTheTatman, to shoot with the bugged Bullfrog. Immediately, the Two-Time reacts: “Oh my god, no way!” ZLaner responds: “It sounds like it’s all around you.” While it’s hard to hear directional audio through a stream rather than a player’s actual headphones, Doc’s reaction just about sums it up. This new bugged Blueprint isn’t new to the professional scene, as it was a major source of drama during September 21’s Z & Z tournament — when exzachht was nearly disqualified for using a Bullfrog Blueprint. The rules were made for a broken gun that impacts the game, I wasn’t using that gun. — exzachtt (@exzachtt) September 21, 2021 Ultimately, Zach was let off the hook because he wasn’t using the one that’s actually bugged. But this proves just how serious the competitive advantage is, to the point that using any Bullfrog Blueprint in a tournament is considered punishable. Since you can’t typically acquire this gun for free and it does give a competitive advantage, it’s no stretch to call it a P2W weapon — and that makes it a source of controversy. For now, the developers have yet to respond so it’s unclear if this audio issue is a bug or an intended feature. We’ll keep an ear to the ground, pun intended, and update this piece when news comes out.

Warzone pros demand Signal 50 sniper ban for World Series finals – Dexerto
Warzone pros demand Signal 50 sniper ban for World Series finals ActivisionA number of Warzone pros and streamers have called for the Signal 50 sniper rifle to be banned ahead of the World Series finals, with major concerns about both the gameplay and viewer experience with $600k on the line. The Signal 50 has been a huge point of contention among pro players in recent months, as it has continued to dominate the meta despite nerfs. Developers Raven Software opted not to nerf the Signal 50 in August’s Season 5 update, explaining that their “data does not suggest the Signal 50 is out of the normal range in performance.” However, as with any FPS game, there is a gap between how weapons are used by casual players — where Raven are likely drawing their data from — and how pros utilize them. And this could prove to be a huge issue at the WSOW finals on September 16. Signal 50 banned for World Series of Warzone? A number of competitors have spoken out just days before the World Series’ crowning event takes place to complain about the Signal 50 and request the gun be banned to make it a better experience for everyone. “The Signal 50 has got to go or have a 1 sniper limit” said TheTacticalBrit, who will be taking to the stage in London, comparing it to the Gorenko meta that had pro play in a vice grip during the Caldera World Series of Warzone finals. Another pro, Intechs, claimed that the “Signal 50 is going to ruin the experience for viewers as well as the players.” Warzone’s highest earner and most accomplished player, Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren, had his say. “If you think customs are tough to watch right now, WSOW will only be worse with so much on the line. Very little movement, grab loadout and post up on a roof. Cracking plates across the map until one team runs out. “Understandable some players and teams enjoy this, but it’s just not fun.” With pressure piling on from some of the top names in the game, it will be interesting to see whether the tournament organizers do decide to ban the Signal 50 from competitive play, though this close to the day, time is starting to run out.

Warzone pros demand Signal 50 ban before WSOW Grand Finals – Dexerto
Warzone pros demand Signal 50 ban before WSOW Grand Finals ActivisionWarzone pros pleaded with Treyarch to ban the Signal 50 sniper rifle before the World Series of Warzone Global Finals. In June, Fifakill bashed one-shot snipers and fire shotguns for “killing” Ranked Play. The Warzone community got their wish as Treyarch banned both. Some thought this would spell the end of sniping in competitive Warzone, but they were sorely mistaken. Even though the Signal 50 can’t take down an enemy in one shot, the fast-firing sniper rifle took over Ranked Play and WZ tournaments. And like clockwork, community members then called for a Signal 50 nerf. After initially declining to nerf the popular rifle, the devs eventually had a change of heart and decreased the Signal 50’s neck and upper torso damage multipliers on August 16. Despite receiving a nerf, some WZ pros think it’s time for the weapon to get the boot. FifaKill and other Warzone community members bash Signal 50 On September 1, Fifakill claimed: “Signal 50 should be banned from WSOW. My reason being is that it’s used as a bailout for a lot of teams who struggle to actually fight. Also makes for VERY boring content for the viewers with teams sitting on rooves for 10-20 minutes.” The crux of his argument stems from the weapon slowing down matches and providing an unfair advantage for taking down unsuspecting enemies. Other community members flooded the comment section with similar stances. Warzone content creator IceManIsaac responded: “Tippable from those who have the discipline to do it, but d*mn, it’s boring to watch/play. Most would be just fine playing with ARs. For some, it’s a crutch.” Fifakill added: “Being able to get kills from 100s of meters away with no risk or punishment is too OP for comp.” Warzone streamer FaZe Nio claimed: “It has zero place in comp, especially with the night view. Biggest cheese with the least skill.” The World Series of Warzone Global Finals starts on September 16. It remains to be seen if Treyarch would make such a drastic change right before a major tournament, but we will provide an update if there is a ban.

Warzone pros concerned about “broken” game ahead of $1.2m WSOW finals – Dexerto
Warzone pros concerned about “broken” game ahead of $1.2m WSOW finals ActivisionA number of Warzone pros have expressed their concerns about the state of the game, with the World Series of Warzone Global Final just around the corner and a huge $600,000 on the line. Warzone has never been without its bizarre bugs and issues, some game-breaking and some simply hilarious, and while you can sometimes look past it during casual games, it becomes a whole new issue when players are competing for serious sums of money. With all of the qualifying matches now out of the way, there are mere days until the Global Finals of the World Series of Warzone in London, UK, and some of the competitors are growing seriously concerned that some key problems will go unaddressed before the tournament kicks off. Bugs might ruin World Series of Warzone? “I’m genuinely concerned for WSOW next week,” said American competitor Ethan ‘Ebatez’ Bates. “The amount of bugs that are in the game at the moment is going to be brutal to compete through.” He listed a number of the issues including loot duplicating, the Restock glitch, and kills not counting, among other problems that are still present in the game. TheTacticalBrit, who will also be competing at the tournament, echoed Ebatez’s tweet, saying that the game “needs a serious QOL (quality of life) update this week.” He referenced a number of other glitches, including an insta-death glitch and UAVs not working, adding to the list of issues that could affect them. There are clearly a number of problems with Warzone that players want to see fixed in the game, whether they’re pro players or not, but it could be a disaster if the WSOW finals matches are decided by bugs and glitches taking effect at the worst time. Whether there is a quality-of-life update coming from developers Raven Software remains to be seen but, with just a week to go at the time of writing, it’s not looking great for most of these issues to be fixed before the WSOW takes place.

Warzone pros complain about “participation money” in $300k tournament – Dexerto
Warzone pros complain about “participation money” in $300k tournament ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone pros make a lot of money playing a game, but some aren’t happy about an upcoming prize pool. Unimpressed with “participation money,” streamers like Aydan and Super Evan questioned the $300k World Series of Warzone. On September 8, Call of Duty’s official Twitter account revealed the prizing breakdown for the $300,000 World Series of Warzone, which is scheduled for September 15. Like former WSOW and Twitch Rivals events, the tournament’s prizing is on a fairly flat curve — with $40,000 going to the first-place team and $1,600 going to each of the squads from 26th to 35th. Additionally, $100,000 is reserved solely for the event’s five organizer-selected captains. It’s still a lot of money being handed out, but Warzone’s highest all-time earner, Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad, was not impressed — and neither were many of his fellow pros. As Aydan tweeted in response to the prize-pool graphic, the tournament seems to be “giving out participation money.” And, for good measure, he tossed on a sleeping emoji, likely symbolizing that this decision is a snooze. And Aydan wasn’t alone in his response to the prizing breakdown. In the replies, he and zColorss discussed how the captains’ $100,000 should be added to the placement purse. Separately, SuperEvan — August’s highest-ranked player — tweeted about the prizing as well. Evan’s tweet focused more on the top end of the rewards, rather than the participation money: “The winner gets $40k? Lmao right.” $300k tournament and the winner gets $40k? Lmao right — XSET SuperEvan (@SuperEvan__) September 8, 2021 Both Evan and Aydan have made over $200,000 from Warzone tournaments, so they’re no strangers to prizing. In the replies, other smaller names agree with the concerns, questioning the $100,000 given to the tournament’s five biggest names and why the best performers take home such a relatively small cut of the pie. World Series of Warzone events have featured five pre-selected captains, who choose their own teams and then draft other, non-captained teams to play under their banner. And, based on how those teams perform, the captains receive a cut of $100,000. Overall, the streamers seem concerned that this prizing breakdown gives too much to both the tournament’s five biggest names and to its worst performers. No word yet on whether or not CoD and Twitch will consider shaking it up in the future.

Warzone pros claim nukes are “too easy to get” now – Dexerto
Warzone pros claim nukes are “too easy to get” now ActivisionSome top Warzone streamers have claimed that the Champion’s Quest nukes are too easy to get in Urzikstan, especially since the requirements changed after being introduced to the new map. The nuke has been in Call of Duty in some capacity since the original Modern Warfare 2 in 2009. Back then, a 25 killstreak would earn you a Tactical Nuke, allowing you to end the game, wipe out the enemy team, and earn the win. It has come and gone in many variations since then, but with Warzone being a battle royale game rather than a regular multiplayer COD, developers Raven Software had to find a new way to implement the nuke for a completely different style of game. The result was the Champion’s Quest, with players having to win 5 consecutive matches before they could drop in again, hunt down three nuclear cores of a radioactive element, then defend the site of the nuke while fending off opponents. Repullze says Warzone nuke “too easy” The Champion’s Quest was re-implemented to Urzikstan in the Season 1 Reloaded update, with a new completion challenge. Now, if players in 30 matches in a single season, they will be eligible to complete the Champion’s Quest — but Warzone stars Repullze and Ebatez think it’s “too easy.” On the Pullze Check podcast, joined by top Warzone pro Fifakill, Repullze said: “I think they’re just a little bit too easy. And maybe that’s just a top 0.01%, right, but I just don’t think that they give us that same dope as before.” Ebatez agreed, but said that “the stealing aspect is going to add a lot to that,” referencing the ability for players to ‘steal’ nuke contracts from players who have earned them. “When stealing comes, it’ll make things so much more difficult.” Obviously, the average player will likely disagree strongly with this, and won’t even be able to dream of earning a nuke, unless they get lucky with the steal mechanic. This will be of interest to the devs too, of course, as they may well find that nukes are too easy to get as well and consider some changes — though that seems unlikely right now.

Warzone pros claim low K/D accounts get “absurd” accuracy buffs – Dexerto
Warzone pros claim low K/D accounts get “absurd” accuracy buffs ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone pros have been getting shadow banned left and right recently. After turning to new accounts to keep playing, they now think low-K/D accounts get extra aiming help from the game. “Bullet reg” or “hit reg” is a popular term in the first-person shooter community, meaning “bullet/hit registration.” Players often question games’ bullet reg when it feels like shots that should be hitting enemies don’t seem to actually register as striking them in the game. While bullet reg can often be subject to internet connectivity issues, Warzone streamers now suspect something fishy is going on. After being forced to play on lower-K/D accounts due to shadow bans, they feel that their bullet reg is improved. It’s hard to know if this is a placebo effect or real, but many are wondering if the game is artificially helping lower-skilled players. As such, “skill-based gunfights” are becoming a talking point. Warzone pro claims low-K/D players get buffed accuracy Update: it is an ABSURD difference in bullet reg https://t.co/nGmEF2RGzi — Luke (@Flxnked) January 6, 2022 As Flxnked tweeted out, they tested their aim on a 0.3 K/D account and found “an ABSURD difference in bullet reg.” This sentiment was corroborated by recent tournament-winner zSmit, who said he was “7-bulleting people with an MP-40 on a 0.7 alt.” Additionally, a top-earning Warzone pro Fifakill noted that a lot of players are having the same experience. They swap onto new accounts after shadow bans and feel like their shots are hitting more often than normal. Casual-leaning players also agreed, with one saying that “skill-based gunfights are a thing.” Another claimed that “playing on a new account feels like having aimbot.” While it’s impossible to know exactly what’s going on, the suspicion is intriguing. Warzone has been accused of manipulating lobbies and SBMM to promote microtransactions and help lower-tier players in the past. Improving bullet reg for lower-K/D players would be an obvious, easy way to help them enjoy a mechanically difficult game. It’s true that Flxnked’s Gulag clip has impressive bullet reg, but maybe that’s a coincidence. Regardless of whether you believe it or not, we can be sure to see more players test the theory out now that the concern has been raised.

Warzone pros call for new Customs feature after Tommey & Jukeyz tourney drama – Dexerto
Warzone pros call for new Customs feature after Tommey & Jukeyz tourney drama Twitter, @Tommey, @JukeyzIn the latest bout of Warzone tournament drama, Jukeyz and Tommey’s teams had an unfortunate RPG situation arise. Following the rule-breaking incident, the pros have all rallied around a feature they want added to Customs. Call of Duty: Warzone tournaments take two primary forms: public lobbies (either kill races or Duo Quads formats) or private lobbies. Both have dev error concerns, but the former is subjected to hacker issues while the latter is subjected to ruleset issues. That was the case for some of Warzone’s very best players during a $5,000 Customs tournament on August 26. In the final game, Jukeyz’s teammate, Fifakill, killed Tommey’s teammate, Almond, with an RPG — not realizing that launchers were banned. The incident disqualified Jukeyz and Co.’s points for the final match and costed Tom’s team dearly as well. While both teams still finished in the top five, they then channeled their frustration toward a feature they’d like added: the ability to modify items in Customs. Don’t even get me started haha hopefully if customs are the future it’ll be implemented quickly. Then we can start experimenting with what the ideal rule set is and have some proper good competitions — Fifakill (@Fifakill_) August 26, 2021 With a ton of different tournament organizers, there are many different rulesets for Customs. Some ban RPGs and shotguns, some don’t. What would make life easier for everyone is if Warzone actually let you remove those items from the game entirely. Instead, players are expected to read up on the ruleset and know which items they are or are not allowed to pick up and use mid-game. For players jumping into random events and at random time zones, that can be a surprisingly tall task — as was the case here. Things eventually ended amicably, as the familiar pros recognized that mistakes can happen and forgave one another, but energy was different when the incident happened. As you can tell from Almond’s shock and Tommey’s “f**king idiots” reaction, the moment was understandably a frustrating one. In the early game, it was an unfortunate way to force Tom’s team into a serious regain. With both teams so close to the top spot on the leaderboard, it was certainly unideal for the final match to be thrown into such disarray. Other games have much more extensive customization options for private lobbies. And Warzone players, while happy avoiding hackers in Customs, still want improvements. With Vanguard releasing in November along with a Warzone anti-cheat, one has to wonder if the developers will also add more customization to the fold. Things like lobby codes and bannable items could make the game’s esport a lot more interesting — and less dramatic.

Warzone pros call for bans against “bailout” Stoner 63 loadout – Dexerto
Warzone pros call for bans against “bailout” Stoner 63 loadout Activision / PixabayThere is no shortage of drama in the Call of Duty: Warzone scene and now the Stoner 63 LMG has entered the conversation. With shotguns and snipers on the chopping block, top pros also want the Stoner banished. When Warzone’s best assault rifles got nerfed in the August 20 patch, weapons like the Stoner 63 and Kar98k became even stronger at longer ranges. That, coupled with a shift in tournament formats, has left pro players in divided territory. Warzone tournaments have mostly shifted away from public lobby competition to straight-up Customs, meaning that the very best of the best are facing off against each other. And, in such cases, the impact of guns is magnified. While a casual won’t be breaking your head off with a Kar98 or Swiss K31 too often, a top player will — so the fast-ADS (aim down sight) snipers are being discussed for bans. Similar frustrations have been levied against the Gallo SA12 and, now, the Stoner. Warzone Stoner 63 loadout considered for bans https://twitter.com/ScummN/status/1433455518740324354 In a conversation about banning the Kar98 and Swiss snipers, one of the game’s top players, ScummN, chimed in and called for the Stoner to be removed as well. This was instantly agreed to by another pro, Newbz. The tournament Stoner class is as follows: Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Barrel: 21.9” Task Force – Optic: Royal & Kross 4x – Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip – Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap – The gun does a ton of damage in a fraction of time (props to the muzzle and barrel), while having minimal recoil thanks to the Field Agent Grip and 4x scope. Past that, the Serpent Wrap makes its ADS much more competitive. Why is everyone getting the kar banned out of these tournaments but not the stoner lmfao the biggest bailout gun — Gavin (@xUnrational) September 2, 2021 Another top player, Unrational, also questioned the Stoner — calling it a “bailout” gun and claiming that it should be subject to the same ban hopes that the Kar98 and Swiss are. For ZLaner’s $50,000 tournament on September 3, all loadout shotguns and most loadout snipers are banned. If there’s any way to find out if the Stoner is overpowered in that vacuum, this tournament will be it. But, while the pros debate what guns are unfair to use, casuals can go ahead and test the Stoner out in their games. If it’s too good for them, it might just be good enough for us.

Warzone pros Aydan & HusKerrs get hacker banned live on stream – Dexerto
Warzone pros Aydan & HusKerrs get hacker banned live on stream Activision / NRG / NYSLNothing is worse than running into a hacker on Warzone. Even though they ruined the game, pros Aydan and HusKerrs got one of them banned live on stream. While the clock winds down on the final days of Verdansk, players are still left without an anti-cheat and an abundance of unpunished cheaters. Raven Software have taken a lot of strides to help mitigate this problem but there still isn’t a 100% effective fix. Despite this, Warzone pros Aydan, HusKerrs, and IceManIsaac decided to take matters into their own hands when they encountered one in a match. Warzone pros get cheater banned while streaming As Warzone players await the new Pacific map and RICOCHET anti-cheat, they are doing the dirty work for Activision and cleaning up the streets of Verdansk. During a live stream, HusKerrs and company were killed by a blatant hacker but instead of immediately leaving the lobby, they stuck around in hopes that the devs would see. After a short period of time, the hacker was ripped straight out of the lobby and into the void of banned accounts. In the clip, you can hear the excitement in HusKerr’s voice as the cheater is banned right in front of their eyes, “Get f**ked idiot!” Fellow streamer IceManIsaac was also hyped up as they helped make Warzone a bit safer from these pests. Luckily for the squad, a dev must have been tuned in to one of their streams and realized what was happening, as it only took about two minutes for the account to get banned. While this was good for the community, others are hopeful that the extinction of hackers is near as the game’s anti-cheat is coming out on December 8.

Warzone pro ZLaner wants a Black Ops 3 crossover to raise the “skill ceiling” – Dexerto
Warzone pro ZLaner wants a Black Ops 3 crossover to raise the “skill ceiling” Activision / ZLanerAs Warzone players continue to search for a way to make the battle royale more competitive, OpTic pro ZLaner thinks the game could use a Black Ops 3 crossover to raise the skill gap. Warzone has proven to be a competitive game and the Baka WonderLAN was a great glimpse at what could come in the scene. However, some players still feel that with some RNG and how easy some weapons are to control their recoil, Warzone struggles to define a skill gap. This is why ZLaner thinks he has the perfect solution to combine Warzone’s gun skill with Black Ops 3’s movement to create an even more competitive environment. ZLaner wants Warzone to adopt Black Ops 3 movement I would love to see Warzone with BO3 movement, obviously not with a map like Caldera but one with that style of movement in mind. The skill ceiling would be unreal — OpTic ZLaner (@ZLaner) January 2, 2022 In a tweet on January 2, ZLaner proposed the idea of bringing in a different movement system to Warzone which he thinks “the skill ceiling would be unreal.” Black Ops 3 had a unique jetpack system where players could soar through the air, run on walls, and maximize their boost for “G-slides.” We have already seen jetpacks in a Call of Duty battle royale before. Back in Blackout, Treyarch had a LTM that brought the futuristic thrusters to the game. If something like this is implemented into Warzone it would create another element that players need to master. Instead of just worrying about shooting enemies that are running in a straight line, you would now have to track people as they try to maneuver the skies. However, ZLaner doesn’t think it would work on Caldera and would want a new map that is designed for this element. It’s not one of the most far-fetched ideas and could definitely establish a steep skill gap as this movement wouldn’t be easy to master and combine with gunfights.

Warzone pro ZLaner quiets haters with wild tourney run after anti-cheat launch – Dexerto
Warzone pro ZLaner quiets haters with wild tourney run after anti-cheat launch Twitter, @ZLanerOFFICIALPerhaps no Call of Duty: Warzone pro has been accused of hacking more than ZLaner. So, as soon as the RICOCHET Anti-Cheat dropped, he proceeded to put on an incredible tournament performance. ZLaner has gone to the lengthiest of lengths to disprove those who think he’s a cheater. At one point, he dropped 38 kills while using a monitor cam and an eye tracker. At another point, he even offered to fly an accuser out to watch him play in person. Still, despite those measures, Z’s detractors were not satisfied. They even tried investigating why he was moving homes in Canada. As such, it’s no surprise that all eyes were on the streamer as soon as Ricochet Anti-Cheat launched on December 15 – the same day as a $25,000 tournament. But, to his haters’ surprise, he went on a remarkable run. ZLaner slays out with Warzone anti-cheat enabled ZLaner just dropped 27 kills to win a game in the Warzone 2v2 tourney today and has made note of the North American anti cheat now being live 😂 The hackusations will never stop pic.twitter.com/2tyeyJ6wRt — Jake Lucky (@JakeSucky) December 15, 2021 While the tournament featured a variety of highly esteemed duos, Z was playing with Dr Disrespect. And no offense to the Two-Time, but he certainly leans more toward ‘content creator’ than ‘tournament slayer’ at this point in his career. But they went on a rampage and, after dropping 27 kills in a win to secure Winner’s Finals, Z let the haters know how he was feeling: “North American anti-cheat just dropped by the way.” Booj has been on another level today 😳 $25k Grand Finals up next and it’s a heavyweight matchup: @FaZeBooya & @Swagg vs @DrDisrespect & @ZLanerOFFICIAL pic.twitter.com/KA99R9KLpX — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) December 16, 2021 Looking at the player stats, it’s obvious what kind of day the OpTic streamer was having. Making it to the Grand Finals is impressive enough, but he was putting on a clinic on the way. While Doc had a tournament-low 1.57 K/D heading into the GF, Z had a 7.07 – third-highest behind Booya and ScummN. For the moment, it appears as though the Ricochet Anti-Cheat is holding strong. And, with that new level of security, ZLaner is still flying through tournaments with violence, speed, and momentum. So far, that seems to have quieted his accusers.

Warzone pro with $70k earnings exposed for cheating while twerking on stream – Dexerto
Warzone pro with $70k earnings exposed for cheating while twerking on stream Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3A Warzone player who claims they’ve earned more than $70,000 by playing in Warzone tournaments was exposed for using cheats on stream while twerking on their chair. The widespread use of cheat software across multiple games has been an issue, especially in Warzone and MW3. And, though Ricochet anti-cheat has proven a bit more effective than competitors like The Finals, where extremely blatant cheating has been a problem, Warzone players still aren’t happy with where the game is. Despite tens of thousands of cheaters getting banned, players still complain about seeing them in their matches. And an on-stream slip-up from an avid Warzone player has only added to the story. While streamer Devinity was jumping up and down in their chair and twerking, red boxes appeared around characters in game when he wasn’t paying attention to the game. Ultimately, this exposed him for cheating and brought into question almost six figures’ worth of earnings. Warzone streamer accidentally reveals their cheats Without hard evidence, it can be really difficult to determine whether or not someone is cheating. Aside from detecting cheat software on their PC, someone who has strong game sense and awareness can seem to be cheating when they predict someone coming around a wall even if they aren’t. The process of discovering players who are cheating in more subtle ways than a traditional aimbot can be incredibly difficult to identify, making the process of combatting cheats a difficult one. Unless they just accidentally show their cheats on stream, that is. While twerking on their chair, Devinity’s stream showed a faint yet very noticeable red box around an enemy that’d only be there if he used something like a wallhack. He admitted to using the cheats a short time after but claimed that they were only installed on December 29, the day he was caught and that all of his prior Warzone wins were legitimate. Additionally, he stated on his profile that he’d won over $70k in Warzone before removing it after the news came out. Seeing as he was caught using cheats, the prospect of taking him at his word that he just started using cheats today isn’t something the CoD community intends to do. FaZe Snip3down, meanwhile, started the conversation of whether or not there should be legal consequences for someone like Devinity using cheats to win money. It’s difficult to determine when he started using cheats, making it challenging to draw a clear line. This topic is likely to be revisited as cheating continues to be a persistent issue in Warzone and Call of Duty as a whole.

Warzone pro weaponizes Armor Box for nasty 1v3 in $20k tournament – Dexerto
Warzone pro weaponizes Armor Box for nasty 1v3 in $20k tournament ActivisionA Call of Duty: Warzone pro proved how deadly an Armor Box can be with some outside-of-the-box thinking. During a $20,000 tournament, Dr3w shocked viewers with a surprisingly creative 1v3. Warzone Customs are some of the most tense tournaments around. The high-stakes events pit Verdansk’s best players against one another in private lobbies, making every fight a heavyweight matchup. Dr3w was one of the lesser-known streamers involved in BoomTV’s $20,000 Code Red on October 19. But he quickly made a name for himself, as the mouse and keyboard player wiped out a squad of three with MacGyver-esque ingenuity. The clip starts in a scary place, with Dr3w stuck as prey without any teammates around. And it ends with surprise, as the player finesses his way through a 1v3 thanks to an Armor Box, of all items. Warzone pro 1v3s with an Armor Box trick The IQ on this @Dr3waa 1v3 in yesterday’s $20k Custom… 🤯pic.twitter.com/iwKUSgBGh4 — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) October 20, 2021 As you can see, Dr3w’s back is against the wall — almost literally — as he awaits his predators. The first hunter becomes prey, though, as a waiting Dr3w guns them down with haste. But they refuse to wait for the rest of the attackers, opting to scamper upstairs and outside instead. Then, running into a nearby building, he confusingly places an Armor Box down (despite being fully plated) and a C4 right beside it. A moment later, it all makes sense. He waits at the top of the stairs of his new building and, right as the two other foes approach, he detonates the C4 — blowing up the Armor Box and dealing considerable damage. The C4 and Armor Box combination seems to crack both enemies’ shields, allowing Dr3w to finish them off with great speed. And that haste was necessary, as the enemies were able to crack his armor (and then some) before being downed. Overall, the Armor Box trick is an interesting one. Coupled with a C4, it’s essentially a very strong, manual Proximity Mine. And, if it’s good enough for use in a $20k tournament, it might be handy in casual games too.

Warzone pro Vapulear responds to Aydan’s wager “scam” accusations – Dexerto
Warzone pro Vapulear responds to Aydan’s wager “scam” accusations Activision / Aydan TwitterWarzone pro ‘Vapulear’ responded to allegations of scamming fellow Call of Duty players after top talent Aydan claimed to have thousands of dollars unpaid. Between events and stacked tournaments, Warzone players routinely load into wager matches or other bets to keep the competition alive and make some extra cash on the side. Since these are direct transactions from player-to-player, there’s an expectation for quick payouts once the dust settles. Aydan didn’t see $2,500 he claims to have won from Vapulear after their wagers and warned other players to avoid placing bets with him. Vapulear denied withholding any money as a result from a wager and explained his side of the dilemma after word spread of Aydan’s accusation. “I’m just writing this to clear a few things up,” Vapulear said. “I have not scammed or will never scam anyone for wagers / sidebets. “My PayPal got banned with £4000 in it when I tried to send the money he was owed. Also I did try sending numerous times through CashApp which kept getting restricted until eventually getting banned.” Technical difficulties aside, Vapulear has committed to paying Aydan the money owed. The UK resident says the money is already en-route to the American pro and that Aydan said he’d acknowledge the transfer online once it’s completed. https://twitter.com/MVapulear/status/1517211750986391553 This came after a staggering tweet where Aydan shed light on his issue that started the wave of criticisms toward Vapulear. “Just a heads up, do not wager or do sidebets with Vapulear,” Aydan said. “He scammed me for over $2,500 from wagers so I just wanted to give anyone that wagers a warning.” Vapulear claims to have received backlash and even death threats due to the fallout from the accusations. After paying Aydan, the UK pro says he’s “done with gaming” and expects to step back from the Warzone scene in the coming weeks.

Warzone pro Tommey wins $100K tourney with new Automaton loadout after Bren nerfs – Dexerto
Warzone pro Tommey wins $100K tourney with new Automaton loadout after Bren nerfs Activision / 100 ThievesThe Warzone Pacific Season 2 patch nerfed the meta long-range Bren ahead of a $100,000 tournament. But, pro Tommey wasn’t fazed and pulled out a new Vanguard Automation loadout to pave his way to victory. Most of Pacific’s first season was dominated by two weapons in particular. The MP-40 ruled the short-range, while the Bren was the top-dog for long-range fights. It was clear that these two were the go-to guns for every single pro in Warzone, but it took until Season 2 for the team to send out a meaningful nerf. With a $100K tourney on the line, and basically no time to figure out which gun would be meta, Tommey crafted a new Automation loadout. Warzone pro Tommey uses Automaton loadout in $100K tourney win If you’re just looking for the exact setup, below you can find a complete list of attachments Tommey used on his Automaton. Muzzle: MX Silencer – Barrel: ZAC 600mm BFA – Optic: G16 2.5x – Underbarrel: m1941 Hand Stop – Stock: Anastasia Padded – Magazine: 6.5mm Sakura 75 Round Drum – Ammunition: Lengthened – Rear Grip: Stippled Grip – Perk: Tight Grip – Perk 2: Fully Loaded – You can see that this build is primarily focused on controlling the recoil of the assault rifle. The Bren was known for doing insane damage, all while having no kick to it. So Tommey crafted an Automaton that does similar things. With the ZAC 600mm BFA, m1941 Hand Stop, and Anastasia Padded he is able to get his gun to the least amount of recoil possible with this Vanguard AR. And if you’re looking to see it in action, then you’re in luck. As you can see from this clip during the tournament, the Automaton shreds just as fast as the Bren used to. Tommey destroys an enemy off a head glitch with his laser loadout. He complimented his AR with the normal MP-40 build as himself along with many others still find it to be the most viable SMG.

Warzone pro Tommey somehow griefed mid-air by Loadout Drop during tournament – Dexerto
Warzone pro Tommey somehow griefed mid-air by Loadout Drop during tournament ActivisionWarzone pro Tommey is one of the game’s greatest players, taking home loads of cash and tournament wins. While he is playing at a top-level that doesn’t make him immune to some whacky deaths, even while playing in tournaments. After retiring from professional CoD, Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren signed with 100 Thieves as the team’s first Warzone pro player. Since joining, Tommey has quickly become one of the best Warzone players, ranking third all-time on the top earnings list with over $200,000. Even though he is an extraordinary talent, that doesn’t mean Tommey can avoid some unfortunate deaths while playing in a tourney. Warzone pro Tommey dies to Loadout Drop mid-air There are so many ways to die in a Warzone game, you can get gunned down by someone, fall to your death, get run over by a car… the possibilities are endless. Tommey was playing in BoomTV’s Rising Stars of Warzone Streamer Series, in a trio kill race format. Things were going extremely well for Tommey and his squad, but it took a humorous turn when he redeployed and died immediately. In this clip, you can see that he was bought back by his teammate and dropping back in. Out of nowhere, a Loadout Drop spawns right on top of him causing him to be crushed to his death. You can hear him absolutely mindblown at what just happened, as this is something that rarely happens to your everyday Warzone player. Despite this minor setback, Tommey’s team of Newbz and Almond went on to clutch up the rest of the tournament taking home $5,000. So next time you have an unlucky death just remember that it could happen to anyone.

Warzone pro Tommey reveals forgotten XM4 loadout that’s better than the Bren – Dexerto
Warzone pro Tommey reveals forgotten XM4 loadout that’s better than the Bren Activision / CDLAs the Warzone meta continues to evolve, pro player Tommey is finding success in old weapons and now claims that his Cold War XM4 loadout is better than the Bren. Warzone players have been dominating the Pacific era with Vanguard weapons, specifically with the Bren LMG. This gun first made an appearance at the Baka WonderLAN, with nearly the entire competition using this loadout. Since then it’s been the clear-cut go-to weapon for the long-range meta despite nerfs. However, guns from previous titles like Cold War have been proven to be viable still and Tommey is blasting this XM4 loadout all over the timeline. Tommey reveals meta Warzone XM4 loadout This is it right here. Thank me later. pic.twitter.com/P3oTEEWKEs — Tommey (@Tommey) February 12, 2022 In a tweet that he captioned “thank me later,” the Warzone pro still believes that the XM4 is a top-tier weapon in the battle royale. Here is a list of the attachments that he uses. XM4 loadout Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Barrel: 13.5″ Task Force – Optic: Axial Arms 3x – Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip – Ammunition: STANAG 60 Round – While it is the classic build that people are used to seeing, Tommey points out that this is by far the best weapon in Warzone. When asked about his ordinary build he replied, “No shit, just letting people know it’s better than the Bren.” Since the LMG is by far the most valued long-range weapon in the game, people have been slow to move away from it. Loadouts for the C58 and even the FFAR have been revamped but many stick with the Bren. Tommey thinks that it’s time to change up the meta and go back to some classic weapons. Season 2 is set to release on February 14 and with it are two new weapons that could shake up the meta. But if you don’t want to unlock them then the Cold War XM4 will be viable for you to use.

Warzone pro Tommey racks up absurd 64-kill game thanks to brilliant teamwork – Dexerto
Warzone pro Tommey racks up absurd 64-kill game thanks to brilliant teamwork Twitter, @Tommey / ActivisionTop-tier Call of Duty: Warzone pro Tommey managed to hit a ridiculous 64 kills in Quads on Halloween. And it’s proof of what talent is capable of when combined with absolutely selfless teamwork. Warzone has been out since March 2020 and, unsurprisingly, it’s become rare to see world records even approached this late in the game. But, just weeks before the new Pacific: Caldera map, Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren has made his mark. With 64 kills, the top-earning streamer may have beaten a world record for individual kills in a game of Quads. While it’s hard to verify that it’s actually the record, it’s nonetheless an incredible performance. Most people won’t be able to replicate Tom’s performance, but there is something to be learned here. With a challenge to get 30 kills for 30 gifted Twitch subs, the streamer’s team put all effort into helping him rack up kills — and their tricks could help your squads hit kill PRs (personal records) too. Tommey drops 64 Warzone kills with EM2, OTs 9 loadout Oh boy. @Tommey was feeling it last night He ended up finishing the game with… 64 kills 😳 pic.twitter.com/mh8yUy7jBi — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) November 1, 2021 As you can see in the clip, Tom was in fine form this match. Downing from distance with the EM2, avoiding gunfire, and using his Combat Bow on a moving helicopter? He obviously celebrated Halloween as a Verdansk demon. Throughout the match, Tommey’s EM2 and OTs 9 simply demolished an unprepared lobby. But, even though he would’ve likely hit 40-plus by himself, his teammates were as helpful as can be. You can watch the full match VOD (time stamp at 1:33:32) to see exactly how Tommey and his team pulled off the big game, but here are the general pointers. How Warzone teammates can help reach PR kills Firstly, knowing Tommey needed a big game — everyone tried not to take too many kills themselves. Instead, they would call out enemies, live-ping them, and often chip armor off so Tom could get easier downs. Additionally, the squad always made sure that Tom had a vehicle on hand and a UAV in the sky. And then, one or two would spread out to find enemies out of Tommey’s range, sometimes providing suppressing fire to trap the foes for easier kills once he arrived. And finally, they also helped in engagements as well. Distracting by driving vehicles, baiting by running around, and clearing buildings to find campers — the entire team committed to helping Tom get kills. Oh and they got his finishes too, saving valuable time. Overall, the massive game took serious talent, teamwork, and the luck of a bot lobby (a 0.77, per WZStats). But that teamwork is most interesting for the rest of us, as it showed exactly how you can help your teammates set kill PRs, and vice versa.

Warzone pro Tommey finds “magic mushroom” bush that blurs screen – Dexerto
Warzone pro Tommey finds “magic mushroom” bush that blurs screen ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone pro Tommey was completely baffled when he chanced upon a random Caldera bush that seems to break your vision as soon as you touch it. Now, players are calling it Pacific’s “magic mushroom.” In a first-person shooter, like most games, being able to see what’s going on is pretty important. You can’t shoot what you can’t see, and that’s one of the reasons Warzone players were so excited for the vibrancy and brightness of the Pacific. Unfortunately, there seems to be at least one hidden spot in the Caldera environment that ruins visibility. In fact, it completely fogs up and blurs your entire screen as soon as you touch it. While moving around the map, Warzone’s top earner and 2021’s top-ranked pro, Tommey, ran into this spot. Marked by a bush (or maybe a small spruce?) adjacent to a rock, the location appears to instantly mess with your vision. Glitched bush discovered in Warzone Pacific Does anyone know what this is or why this happens? pic.twitter.com/z8T4VKwnxU — Tommey (@Tommey) December 23, 2021 As you can see in the clip, Tom parachutes to the ground and, while running, passes the bush and lets out a quick “whoa” as his whole screen fogs up. Fortunately, it only lasts for as long as you’re in that spot, but he went back and checked to be sure. Upon returning to the spot, Tommey’s screen returns to a blurred state and he asks, “What is this?” His teammate then joins him on the spot, and it becomes clear that this is a universal issue, as they quickly reacted: “Yo, why is my thing f**ked up?” In the replies, many theorized about what the effect could be. Some believe it’s the type of screen fogging caused by the game’s water geysers or by going prone in the shallow pools. But while there’s a stream nearby, it doesn’t seem to touch this bush at all. So one user simply called it the “magic mushroom” bush, since there’s no logical explanation for what happened. With Caldera still relatively new to the Warzone community, it seems that little secrets are continuing to pop up here and there. This one most certainly feels like an unintentional bug, but the devs will need to confirm that before we can be 100% positive.

Warzone pro Tommey claims there is major streamsniping corruption in tournaments – Dexerto
Warzone pro Tommey claims there is major streamsniping corruption in tournaments 100 Thieves/Activision100 Thieves Warzone pro Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren has alleged that there has been serious corruption in tournaments and wagers “for the last year,” with people betting on games and stream sniping pros to earn “thousands and thousands of dollars.” While the Warzone tournament scene slowed down throughout 2022, plenty of top players have been able to earn some solid money through various smaller tournaments and wagers, as well as those who stream getting paid via their channels. Some players, including Tommey, have now learned that other Warzone players are earning extra money by making side bets on wagers and tournament results — then stream sniping, and sometimes even hacking against, the pros they’ve bet against, while using alt accounts. “For the last year there has been a group of people betting on games and stream sniping/hacking at the same time and dictating who wins what games,” Tommey said. “It’s been over thousands and thousands of dollars.” Tommey also claimed that he “always knew something like this would happen but not to this scale.” Fellow pro and World Series of Warzone Solo YOLO winner Fifakill replied to Tommey, suggesting that he had always suspected that something like this could happen, but could never get proof. Bro what… yk what’s crazy is that I said this would happen and guessed it had been but never any proof. Wild. — Fifakill (@Fifakill_) September 28, 2022 Tommey also promised that a video explaining the entire situation and providing evidence would come later, after his tournament stream on September 27 was disrupted multiple times by stream snipers. It’s unclear whether any well-known competitors are involved at all, but we’ll be sure to update as more information comes to light.

Warzone pro Tommey accuses world record-holder of cheating during tournament – Dexerto
Warzone pro Tommey accuses world record-holder of cheating during tournament Activision / Twitter, @TommeyIn the midst of a Call of Duty: Warzone tournament, 100 Thieves’ Tommey accused a World Record-holder and tourney foe, Pacesetter, of cheating — investigating the evidence live on stream. With over $80,000 in earnings and a contract with 100T, Tommey is more familiar than most with Warzone and, understandably, concerned about competitive integrity. After being eliminated from a Mainland Gaming tournament, he decided to watch the rest of the games (as he usually does) and honed in on Pacesetter (who has been subject to numerous hacking rumors). Growing increasingly suspicious about the new streamer’s gameplay, Tommey eventually went into his chat asking for a monitor cam. That quickly snowballed into Pacesetter leaving his stream for over an hour, being disqualified for refusing to cooperate with tourney admins and deleting both Twitch and YouTube VODs. Pacesetter has competed in tournaments, wagers and broken a World Record, but that recent success could not derail Tommey’s investigation. By the end of the evening, the 100T streamer had exhaustively examined Pacesetter’s gameplay (including from deleted VODs) live on Twitch for thousands of viewers — resulting in the entire CoD community hailing the Warzone pro as their very own anti-cheat. Although originally reluctant to dub Pacesetter a cheater after receiving clips from people on social media, Tommey paid more attention following his loss in the tournament. Noting subtle signs of cheating (suspicious centering, perfect awareness of enemy positioning), he then decided there was enough reason to demand a monitor cam from the upsurging streamer. Read more: How to check your SBMM rank in Warzone – When Tommey requests the cam in chat, with a specific note not to touch the keyboard, it appears as though Pacesetter reads it and quickly begins typing. This becomes a nail in the coffin, as inconsistencies in his rationale lead tournament admins to request an anti-cheat process. Suggesting that he was using the keyboard to play music (which never began playing and would have required attention to the monitor he doesn’t seem to be facing), admins requested access to Pacesetter’s PC logs to find out if he had quit a hacking program. In response, the upcoming streamer apparently left for over an hour, causing admins to grow suspicious that he was cleaning out the logs, leading to a disqualification in the semi-finals. Ultimately, it is impossible to confirm with full certainty that Pacesetter was cheating — as he uses XSplit, a streaming software known for the ability to hide hacks on Twitch. Nonetheless, Tommey’s in-depth investigation into the gameplay and subsequent responses to accusations proved damning enough for the CoD community. Read more: Is the DMR still OP in Warzone? – While everyone from huge Warzone figures to casual fans exalted Tommey for his work as their very own anti-cheat, the Verdansk Sherlock Holmes explained that, despite hating cheaters, this should not encourage anyone to cross lines: “Don’t go over and give this man mad hate or anything. But people that cheat deserve to be told they’re wrong.”

Warzone pro TeeP reveals why hack accusations against big streamers are ‘fair’ – Dexerto
Warzone pro TeeP reveals why hack accusations against big streamers are ‘fair’ Twitter, @TylerTeeP / ActivisionFrom Call of Duty pro to Warzone pro, TeeP knows CoD as well as anyone. So who better to interview about top-tier performance and how it feeds into the streamer-hacker accusations? Tyler ‘TeeP’ Polchow’s opinion of Warzone hackers is easily summarized: “Tiring.” Like most players in top-tier lobbies, he trudges through multiple hackers daily. And that fatigue likely explains why he seems as excited about the upcoming anti-cheat as he is about the flashy, new map. But despite constantly fighting against hackers, TeeP and other big streamers get accused of cheating themselves. And while that would probably be annoying, he actually thinks the accusations are understandable. A Warzone pro’s play can seem unnatural to casuals. That can be attributed to talent, time played, and how differently the game performs on a high-end PC setup than the common console. TeeP acknowledges the bump to performance his setup brings, but doesn’t think that gap in play is to blame for ‘hackusations.’ TeeP interview: Boosting Warzone performance on PC This guy @TylerTeeP really giving us an excuse to bring back the OG M4 🥰pic.twitter.com/XnxhWWgmrx — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) September 23, 2021 The majority of Warzone players are on console, while most pros and streamers play on elaborate PC rigs blessed with better graphics, framerates, and FOV sliders. Even further, TeeP also makes use of three other peripherals — audio, controller, and monitor — that help him compete at a higher level. As he explains, “high-quality audio is a top priority on the professional scene.” TeeP uses a pair of JBL Quantum Ones, which come with accompanying PC software. Speaking about why he’s partnered with the brand and prefers the Quantum One, he elaborated: “It delivers the most precise in-game audio and allows me to configure everything that I want in the PC software that comes with it.” Further, the streamer has been using SCUF controllers for a decade. And there’s a simple reason why: “It has paddles, so I don’t have to worry about playing claw and can keep my hands fresh.” PSA: Don’t creep on @TylerTeeP 😤 pic.twitter.com/3VQy1WU1td — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) July 19, 2021 And lastly, TeeP claims that top-tier “monitors are also an easy way to have a leg up on the competition.” He credited the switch to 1440p resolution (with a 240hz refresh rate) for helping counter fatigue. Why Warzone hackusations are understandable As such, your setup can help you hear better and see better, while protecting from hand strain and fatigue. It’s therefore no surprise that professional gamers have such an edge on casuals — who are basically playing a restricted version of the same game. So we asked if TeeP thinks the benefits of a high-end setup might explain why streamers are so often accused of hacking by those with more-limited experiences. While he agreed “that could be part of it,” he actually thinks there’s a simpler explanation. The unbreakable gas mask bug in #Warzone is starting to ruining matches again as Infinity Ward are still looking for a fix ☠ Details: https://t.co/06roi7e2sw (via @TylerTeeP) pic.twitter.com/GW0EU9NX1J — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) August 13, 2020 “Cheaters have been a big problem for so long now on CoD and Warzone that it’s not unfair for people to think this way.” As TeeP suggests, there are so many hackers in Verdansk that accusing anyone and everyone isn’t unreasonable at this point. With so many hackers running amok, fans may understandably be paranoid of anyone with a three-plus K/D. But Warzone Pacific is coming and, with it, the RICOCHET Anti-Cheat. If the latter is effective, there should hopefully be fewer hackers and, in turn, fewer streamer hackusations. At that point, maybe we’ll actually be able to blame headsets, not just hacks, for streamers being so good at the game.

Warzone pro TeeP reveals sleeper KG M40 loadout that’s actually “meta” – Dexerto
Warzone pro TeeP reveals sleeper KG M40 loadout that’s actually “meta” Activision / TeePWarzone has seen the addition of new guns with Season 2, but they have been slept on by the community. However, TeeP is breaking out a KG M40 loadout that he thinks is actually “meta.” As per every new season in Warzone, Pacific’s second saw some new guns get added to the Vanguard weapon pool. The Whitley LMG and KG M40 AR were the newest members of the Warzone arsenal but neither have popped up as “meta weapons,” until now. Warzone streamer TeeP, despite people saying the gun isn’t viable, has created a top-tier loadout with the KG M40 and it can shred. TeeP build viable Warzone KG M40 loadout If you’re looking to hop straight into a game with this setup, then you’ll want to take a look below as we list the full attachments TeeP uses. Muzzle: Mercury Silencer – Barrel: Krausnick 700mm 01V – Optic: G16 2.5x – Stock: VDD 22G Padded – Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop – Magazine: 8mm Klauser 60 Round Drums – Ammo Type: Lengthened – Rear Grip: PolymerGrip – Proficiency: Tight Grip – Kit: Fully Loaded – He showcases this build in a YouTube video where he titled it “nobody is using.” While he may be playing to the clickbait meta Warzone content has, he is right as the gun ranks 11 in pick rate for assault rifles. In his gameplay, he shows that this gun actually can be really strong. It has similarities to the Bren with it’s range however it does lack some damage. TeeP does mention the biggest downside of this gun is the low DPS it has. However, for precise shooters, this gun is extremely accurate and has low recoil, which makes TeeP think it can be viable in certain situations. Even though this likely won’t surpass the Cooper Carbine or Automaton, it definitely is fun to try and could be really good on Rebirth as well.

Warzone pro TeeP reveals his biggest wish for the Pacific map – Dexerto
Warzone pro TeeP reveals his biggest wish for the Pacific map Twitter, @TylerTeeP / ActivisionFrom playing Call of Duty professionally to competing in Warzone’s biggest tournaments, TeeP has seen more CoD than most. And as we head to the Pacific, Caldera map — he has one specific thing he wants to see next. Tyler ‘TeeP’ Polchow has been competing at CoD’s highest levels since 2010. He’s won a world championship, coached, casted, and more on the path to being where he’s at today — a content creator for OpTic Gaming. With a chance at a TeeP interview, we made sure to capitalize on that experience. First, we spoke to him about the “all streamers are hackers” conspiracies. But we had to ask about funner stuff too, like Warzone Pacific. TeeP’s general feelings on the shift from Verdansk to Pacific, Caldera are clear: “I am so damn excited.” But he also has one specific area that he hopes is improved in the new map. And it’s something most fans will probably agree with. Warzone pro TeeP wants less staircases in Warzone Pacific Not a bad way to finish my PR Rebirth game pic.twitter.com/ZPDot1LHFB — TeeP (@TylerTeeP) November 9, 2021 Look, the common reasons for Pacific excitement are a more colorful environment and new guns. Vanguard integration is going to bring a lot of new weaponry into the fold, while a trip to Caldera should mean vibrant scenery — which players already got a taste of with Rebirth Island. But TeeP has a more specific wish for December 8: “hopefully the new map doesn’t have so many staircases to fight in.” As he explained, he “wasn’t the biggest fan of a lot of the building design on Verdansk,” which is an experience many players can relate to. Buildings found in Downtown, Promenade, and Airport frequently caught flack for the playstyles they encouraged. Could changing Warzone’s buildings help counter campers? If you think of CoD gunfights from a competitive or even a casual standpoint, you typically imagine finessing around cover and beaming at medium ranges. Long sightlines exist, but can be avoided, while super-close engagements are restricted to rare encounters. But Verdansk was full of tall buildings with winding, tightly knit stairwells. That’s a camper’s dream and a gunslinger’s nightmare. Contesting someone camping the top of said staircases was a frustrating experience and it’s easy to see why TeeP would hope for less of that in Caldera. For now, it’s unclear exactly how the Pacific map will play out. While players are already worried about some similarities, we’ll only be able to find out if TeeP’s wish was granted once the new map launches on December 8.

Warzone pro styles on Dr Disrespect with 360 flying snipe during $75k tourney – Dexerto
Warzone pro styles on Dr Disrespect with 360 flying snipe during $75k tourney Activision/Dr DisrespectDr Disrespect was left completely speechless after a Warzone pro flexed on him with a 360 snipe in the middle of a $75,000 tournament, of all places. The $75,000 Last Dance in Verdansk tournament was one of the wildest events yet, filled with plenty of drama and action, not to mention an unexpected winner. However, one of the biggest thrills came in a head-to-head with the two-time and pro player bbreadman, who took a leap of faith — literally — in an attempt to style on the popular YouTube star. Let’s just say Bread unleashed his own variety of “violence, speed, and momentum” and it paid off in a big way. $75k tourney and @bbreadmanW is out here World Starring @drdisrespect? 😳 pic.twitter.com/TjyTnaZQzp — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) November 2, 2021 Dr Disrespect styled on by Warzone pro In the eighth game, bbreadman was on a building and spotted Doc behind a bus and the two snipers aimed at each other looking to strike first. After jumping off the building, the Warzone pro performed a 360 and lined up a shot onto Doc only to be shot himself. Luckily, however, he managed to live, switch to his sidearm, and eliminate the 6’6″ gaming giant. From Dr Disrespect’s POV, it looked as if he should have confirmed the kill onto bbreadman, and he was left to sit in silence having placed 12th. How did Dr Disrespect’s shot miss? When fans even started asking him how he didn’t headshot his opponent, he simply replied: “I couldn’t f**king tell you!” Upon closer inspection, it does seem like Doc’s shot was close, but narrowly missed the head as he aimed too low. Just a couple of inches higher and their fates may have been reversed. Nonetheless, it was definitely one of the craziest plays and one that bbreadman even took pride in, tweeting Doc’s perspective on his personal Twitter. “Your move, Dr Disrespect,” he captioned the clip which ended up receiving over 125K views since being uploaded on November 2. Even FaZe Kalei was stunned he went for the 360 snipe. “No way you doing this mid tourney,” she chimed in. With more Warzone tournaments coming with the big Pacific update, it will be interesting to see if the two-time can end up getting some revenge the next time they meet.

Warzone pro Skrapz gets satisfying revenge on player abusing wall glitch – Dexerto
Warzone pro Skrapz gets satisfying revenge on player abusing wall glitch Activision / Call of Duty LeagueFormer Call of Duty League pro and current Warzone streamer Skrapz got his revenge on a player abusing a wall-glitch exploit on Pacific and it is top-tier satisfying content. Warzone’s trip to the Pacific has undoubtedly been a bumpy ride. In the relocation to Caldera, bugs are forcing console players to consider retirement, employees are protesting, and fans are even upset about playlist changes. Wall glitches or clipping exploits are nothing new for the battle royale, although they’ve become more notorious on the densely populated Rebirth Island than Caldera. Still, they exist on the tropical map too, and fair players can’t stand them. Fortunately, there’s a hero in our midst who is willing to confront those who abuse these exploits. Former Paris Legion star Matthew ‘Skrapz’ Marshall got killed by an exploiter, returned for his revenge, and made everyone’s day in the process. Warzone pro shows how to kill players abusing wall glitch This kid killed me in this glitch, I go back killed him and found out how to get init within 2 seconds, this game is comedy pic.twitter.com/KHgnQAAjOo — skrapz (@skrapzg) January 6, 2022 In the clip, Skrapz is in the Gulag when a teammate asks where he got killed. After winning his freedom, he points out the spot – a tower in Airfield – noting that the enemy is “in the glitch … behind the wall, inside that.” With revenge in his eyes, the former CDL pro goes straight down to the loot left by his corpse. Then, he starts slide-canceling around the opaque tower, trying to wall-bang it and kill the abuser he can’t see. Securing hitmarkers, Skrapz evades bullets for long enough to down the exploiter. To cap it all off, he added a classic message for them: “Get f**king s**t on, bro.” By the end, Skrapz had demonstrated precisely how to counter those who decide to abuse the Airfield wall glitch. Since the tower is so small, it’s relatively easier to outplay than some of the other exploits out there. It seems that if you aim toward the center of the tower, you can wall bang through the windows and the lower wooden portion beneath them. Hopefully, players will abuse the spot a little less now. As they’ve seen, you just might end up getting laughed at on Skrapz’s Twitter.

Warzone pro shows off insane loot cache rotation for quick cash & equipment – Dexerto
Warzone pro shows off insane loot cache rotation for quick cash & equipment ActivisionWhen you land into Urzikstan, whether it be out of the plane or in the mid-game, your focus is likely going to be on collecting money and finding the best floor loot weapons. That’s where Warzone’s loot caches can come in incredibly useful. Loot caches were introduced to the Call of Duty battle royale in Al Mazrah when Warzone 2 first launched, with players able to quickly pop them open to pick up cash and high-tier floor loot weapons, among other things, offering a lifeline if you ever found yourself in a precarious position. They have been carried over into Urzikstan and with the Modern Warfare 3 integration into Warzone, and as with Al Mazrah, there are some great rotations you can make between loot caches that are close to one another to easily get your game going. While there are several high-density loot cache spots scattered around Urzikstan, Warzone pro Warsz has shown off one that is centrally located, so should be available very often, with three caches that also lead straight on to a regular Buy Station spawn. Warsz reveals great loot cache rotation As shown off by Warsz here, you can land on the side of the river between Old Town and Zaravan Suburbs to find one loot cache, before heading slightly south for another, then a little more southeast for a third and final loot cache. This should leave you in the vicinity of at least one nearby Buy Station, though you can also find Loadout Drop Markers and Portable Buy Stations in these caches, which would make things even easier. Obviously, this might not always be possible to complete, especially if other players have opened the cache or the circle won’t allow it, but more often than not, this could be a serious game-changer for you.

Warzone pro Shifty stuns viewers with insane gas play to win $1m World Series qualifier – Dexerto
Warzone pro Shifty stuns viewers with insane gas play to win $1m World Series qualifier ActivisionShifty has become one of the greatest Warzone players in the world, and he proved exactly why with an extremely intelligent gas play for the match win during a qualifying match for the $1m World Series of Warzone. When Shifty first burst onto the scene in 2022, he was met with a litany of hacking accusations, as even pros that he played with and against failed to believe he was legitimately doing the things he was doing. Sure enough, two years later, he is one of the best players to ever touch the Call of Duty battle royale, proving his prowess once again to win on match point during WSOW qualifiers on June 19. When left on his own and the circle growing ever smaller, Shifty knew he had to make a play to survive as long as possible and try to get the Match Point win, but his lack of teammates meant he had to go about it in a unique way. Taking his PDS field upgrade out into the gas, Shifty threw it on top of a parked car and drove it out then back towards the circle, managing to maintain enough health to drive in and start mowing down opponents. Once left with just one enemy to take on, Shifty drove back out into the gas and perched behind a wall, able to spray down the one remaining opponent and win the whole thing, much to everyone’s shock. Repullze and his Pullze Check watch party couldn’t believe what they had seen, with 9 other players across 4 different teams all dropping and Shifty somehow managing to pull the win out of the bag, in a fashion you will very rarely see in competitive Warzone, if at all. Shifty, along with teammates Biffle and Hisoka, are favorites for the World Series of Warzone championship, beating their competition in almost every tournament over the past year, and when they’re pulling off plays like this, it’s not hard to see why.

Warzone pro reveals how to win Showers Gulag “99.9%” of the time – Dexerto
Warzone pro reveals how to win Showers Gulag “99.9%” of the time ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone streamer LuckyChamu is a tournament-winner and master of the Gulag. As such, he’s given some pro tips to win the OG (or “Showers”) Gulag that is back in Verdansk for Season 6. The Gulag is possibly the scariest place in all of Warzone. It might even be the reason why so many people prefer Rebirth Island’s Resurgence modes these days. But, like much in life, the Gulag is more fun when you’re winning. And LuckyChamu wants his viewers to have fun so he’s come up with some tips for winning the OG Gulag. Although his “99.9%” guarantee might be difficult to match, the advice is still helpful. For his video, Lucky goes through a few different areas of Gulag 1v1s. From different map variations to lines of sight (LOS) and goolie loadouts, the streamer covers how best to strategize and secure the W. Positioning tips to win Warzone’s OG Gulag: Lanes and flag pressure There are three variations of the Showers Gulag: two with center cover and one with an open lane down the middle. For all three, Lucky recommends trying to establish center control but being wary of your enemy’s “right-hand side advantage.” If you can play it patiently and establish LOS on both sides from the middle, then you can deny your foe’s angles if they’re overaggressive. Additionally, if you control the center then you’re closer to the flag. Once the timer ticks down, that puts pressure on the opponent since they need to come to you if they want to avoid you capping the flag in overtime. Past those rudimentary tips, the streamer also recommends that you don’t over-peek angles. Loadout tips to win Warzone’s OG Gulag: Guns and strategies You can see the positioning tips in the video, but he also blends them with loadout tips for Season 6. Pistols and shotguns require finessing, where you peek and re-challenge from different spots. Conversely, ARs and LMGs allow you to hold lanes and play corners, pre-firing for full kills. With SMGs, you want to play faster. As Lucky shows, if you hit your jumps then your crosshair is more likely to hit their head and torso while theirs hits your lower half for lower damage — thereby winning 50/50 fights. As shown by another pro, WarsZ, using verticality in the Gulag can be very helpful. Loadout tips to win Warzone’s OG Gulag: Equipment And lastly, be aware of your equipment and use it proactively. With stuns and flashes, you should check a different angle after throwing them since the hitmarker will let you know if they’re near where you threw it. If you do get a hitmarker, “do not approach that person from the same POV that they’re looking or the same spot where you stunned them.” Overall, Lucky has a variety of tips that are specific to each Gulag scenario and loadout. But, if you want to win and get back to your teammates as soon as possible, being aware of these central tenets is vital.

Warzone pro reveals best Rebirth Island loadout perks for high-kill games – Dexerto
Warzone pro reveals best Rebirth Island loadout perks for high-kill games ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone pros and streamers have been playing more Rebirth Island recently. And, in turn, tournament-winner LuckyChamu decided to break down why you need different loadout perks for the unique game mode. Since debuting in Warzone, Rebirth Island has continued to gain more and more love from the community. It already had its diehards from the Blackout Alcatraz days but now streamers are dropping in for the fast-paced violence as well. Unsurprisingly, Warzone’s best players care about getting lots of kills and figuring out the optimal meta to do so. And LuckyChamu, who has won tournaments like the $100k ROKKR Royale, is no exception. In a new video, the self-named “Rebirth Reaper” broke down why you need to choose different perks for Rebirth Island than Verdansk. And, likely to Verdansk purists’ surprise, he recommends Quick Fix (and sometimes Tempered) for high-kill games. The best Rebirth Island loadout perks for slaying out Interestingly, Lucky’s main recommendation for Rebirth Island loadout perks is to use Quick Fix in the blue slot. Instead of opting for Double Time’s mobility or E.O.D.’s toughness, Quick Fix helps you navigate the game’s increased pace of play. Quick Fix starts health regeneration as soon as you kill an enemy, which can be vital for staying alive when you don’t have time to plate up. Lucky uses it in blue for all of his classes because Rebirth is “really, really fast.” Why you should use Quick Fix and Tempered in Rebirth Island While you can watch Lucky’s video for other tips and actual gun suggestions, he also touches on Tempered being a useful perk. Occupying the slot typically given to Amped, Tempered makes it so that you only use two armor plates instead of three. Like Quick Fix, Tempered helps you save time when healing since you receive 150% of the shielding with each plate than you would without it equipped. If you want to get a lot of kills on Rebirth Island, you need to play fast since it’s a smaller map with denser action. Both Quick Fix and Tempered can help save valuable time, keeping you alive while you kill enemies with guns like Lucky’s preferred Kar98k and OTs 9.

Warzone pro Repullze disproves hack accusations with wildly customized controller – Dexerto
Warzone pro Repullze disproves hack accusations with wildly customized controller Twitter, @Repullze / ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone streamer and tournament player Repullze was accused of using Cronus hacks after a wild clip. In response, he shut them off by showing the unique buttons his custom controller has. Repullze is one of Complexity’s new trio of Warzone content creators, the Baka Bros. A highly regarded streamer and tournament pro, he pulled off a nasty play on Pacific while representing his new org. Unfortunately, the play was a little too nasty for some tastes — and accusations quickly came rolling in. With impressive recoil control and nonstop live pings, many suggested that Repullze was using Cronus hacks. So, in response, the streamer broke things down for those who haven’t seen his streams. He has a unique Battle Beaver custom controller and it comes equipped with some buttons that aren’t even available to the public. Warzone streamer Repullze gets accused of hacks after crazy play Can confirm, this thing slaps… @JGODYT pic.twitter.com/7cp6FIgCr3 — रepullze (@Repullze) December 13, 2021 First things first, the play itself is pretty nuts. Rocking an MP-40 class, Repullze gets involved in the action, already sitting on 23 kills. A minute later, he’s wiped two full squads and is up to 31 kills. A consummate teammate, Repullze manages to ping almost everyone while he’s shooting. This ended up being the primary source of hack accusations. One user replied with a particularly cheeky comment: “You literally have ping on fire/ADS turned on! If you don’t want to get caught with Cronus, turn it off.” Repullze denies Cronus accusations with wild Warzone controller To the Cronus comments down below. Y’all are so cute 🥰 pic.twitter.com/AGhxImHPHL — रepullze (@Repullze) December 14, 2021 To defend himself against the “BadBoyBeamans in the chat,” Repullze explained that he was using Combat Scout, but he also has a controller setup that helps with pinging. Essentially, he has a button to the side of his ADS button so that he’s able to ping with the same finger that he uses to aim down. Elaborating further, Repullze revealed that he now has six additional buttons on his BattleBeaver. And, as others noted, the shoulder button he uses for pings is only available to sponsored players. All in all, this explains why people were skeptical of his play. What he was doing is literally unnatural for a normal player’s controller, but it’s not actually a Cronus — just a wildly unique custom.

Warzone pro MuTeX shuts down hacking accusations with absurd 5-camera stream – Dexerto
Warzone pro MuTeX shuts down hacking accusations with absurd 5-camera stream Twitter, @FF_MuTeX / ActivisionFormer Call of Duty pro and current Warzone streamer, Charlie ‘MuTeX’ Saouma has taken things to the extreme after being accused of hacking. To dispel the allegations, he streamed surrounded by… five cameras. In recent days, MuTeX has become the center of hacking accusations. He denied those allegations about Cronus Zen usage and hack software, but decided to take things a step further. A former CoD pro, MuTeX already uses a hand cam to show how he plays claw. But, with more hacking concerns rising, he opted for extra proof. In what may seem like overkill to some people, MuTeX has now set up five different cameras during his gameplay. With all of these different angles, people can see that he’s not using a Cronus, doesn’t have hacks on his monitor, and doesn’t have hacks on his second monitor. The streamer has essentially covered all bases by covering his room in surveillance hardware. As you can see in the clip, the man known as MuMu is now in his very own Orwellian surveillance state. He’s tired of hacking accusations and committed to singing about them while disproving them all. There are different ways to check if people are hacking in Warzone, but there are numerous ways to hide cheats as well. Perhaps the most notorious example of a hacker being caught was when Tommey caught a cheater live during a tournament. In that incident, Tommey asked his suspect for a monitor cam check: “Without touching anything Pace, flip your cam on your screen real quick.” The resistance to doing so was taken as proof that Pacesetter was cheating and the player hasn’t played in a tournament since. Hmmm… Might be time for a @FF_MuTeX 5-camera, no-glasses stream 👮🏻♂️ https://t.co/njoHb3yDB3 — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) July 9, 2021 MuMu, unlike Pace, has not only wilfully shown his monitor cam — he’s added four other cams as well. At the moment, it remains unclear if this is enough to satisfy accusers, but they’ve now begun getting trolled by the entire Twitter world as well. For the sake of the environment, one can only hope that MuTeX is allowed to stop using five different cameras. For the sake of the Warzone community, hopefully people don’t start taking the Google Glasses accusations seriously next.

Warzone pro MuTeX shadowbanned despite claiming to “never break any rules” – Dexerto
Warzone pro MuTeX shadowbanned despite claiming to “never break any rules” Activision / MuTeXWarzone hack accusers everywhere are salivating as pro player MuTeX has been shadowbanned on the battle royale — even though the streamer claims to have never broken any rules. When it comes to Warzone, no one is ever safe from being called a cheater. As many hackers have infiltrated the game, it created a “cheater until proven innocent” atmosphere for many players. While the RICOCHET anti-cheat has done its part in silencing hackers around the world, some people think it lacks in certain areas. This is why the game has shadow banning, which suspects players that may be cheating and makes it nearly impossible to find a game. Now, streamer and pro MuTeX, who has been widely accused of cheating in the past, has been shadow banned on the game, despite proving to the community that he hasn’t done anything wrong. https://twitter.com/FF_MuTeX/status/1513102694499631104 MuTex shadowbanned on Warzone On April 10, MuTeX informed his fans that he has been shadow banned on Warzone even though he believes he didn’t break any rules. He reached out to Raven Software and Activision saying “please help me out as soon as possible. I stream your game every single day and don’t want a set back for no reason.” MuTeX has done everything in his power to clear his name from hackusations in Warzone. He’s gone as far as 5-camera streams just to prove to everyone that he’s just more talented than the average player. However, it appears that Raven Software have flagged his account for suspicious activity. The pro has sent out numerous tweets asking for this to be resolved , but so far nothing has happened. https://twitter.com/FF_MuTeX/status/1513223638555807748 He even brings up that he streamed Warzone for a year straight without any issues just his love and passion for the game. He doesn’t want this to hurt his career and unnecessarily set him back. Accounts have been falsely flagged in the past as a player was wrongly shadow banned for abusing planes to drop an insane K/D ratio every game. While this could be the case for MuTeX, we will need to wait for an official statement from the devs to either confirm or correct this decision.

Warzone pro MuTex claims Itra Burst is the most “slept on” AR in the game – Dexerto
Warzone pro MuTex claims Itra Burst is the most “slept on” AR in the game Activision / MuTeXMuTex has been a popular name in the Warzone community for a long time. With his experience as a former competitive CoD player, he knows a thing or two about what makes a good AR and his latest fixation is the Itra Burst class that he thinks is the “most slept on” in the game. Mutex has seen it all in the Call of Duty scene. From big money Search and Destroy matches to high-kill Warzone games, the young man is a well-rounded veteran of the community. In fact, he’s so good at Warzone that last year he relentlessly battled cheating accusations with increasingly complicated camera angles and setups until his name was cleared. When someone is that skilled, it’s best to hear them out when they say a weapon is flying under the radar, especially if they’ve got the gameplay to prove it. Warzone pro MuTex believes the Itra Burst is Warzone’s most underrated Assault Rifle In a May 20 video on his channel, MuTex was challenged to use the Itra Burst by a subscriber and came out the other side with a new appreciation for the gun. It offers a different gameplay experience to the other meta weapons, but that’s not a negative according to the longtime CoD demon. After putting it to use in a jaw-dropping 27 kill Rebirth Island win he summed up his thoughts in just a few simple words: “It’s such a good gun, it’s so easy to win with.” MuTex Warzone Itra Burst loadout: Muzzle: Recoil Booster – Barrel: Perfetto 140mm Rapida – Optic: Slate Reflector – Stock: Botti SMI Adjustable – Underbarrel: M1941 Handstop – Magazine: .303 British 36 Round Mag – Ammo Type: Lengthened – Rear Grip: Grooved Grip – Perk: Vital – Perk 2: Fully Loaded – His setup revolves around getting the fire rate up while also boosting mobility. This way anyone using it can collect kills in a flash and stay on the move after the job is done. That means just like high strafe speed guns like the Type 100 and Volk, getting the most out of the Itra means doing a whole lot of outmaneuvering opponents and staying one step ahead of the competition. Anyone who has seen success with either of those loadouts shouldn’t have any trouble at all putting this underrated monster to use.

Warzone pro Jukeyz wakes up from induced coma and asks if Modern Warfare 2 is out – Dexerto
Warzone pro Jukeyz wakes up from induced coma and asks if Modern Warfare 2 is out Red Bull Content PoolPopular Warzone pro Liam ‘Jukeyz’ James is awake and “doing well” after being put into an induced coma on September 27 amid complications with an asthma attack. Naturally, he was quick to ask whether Modern Warfare 2 was on store shelves yet. Having suffered a “bad asthma attack” on September 26, Warzone star Jukeyz was put into an induced coma the following day, his partner announced on social media. While his heart temporarily stopped, his body “responded well” to medication early on and now just three days later, he’s conscious once again. “Liam is now awake and doing well,” his partner confirmed in an update on September 30. Beyond that, no further insight was provided as his family keeps a degree of privacy during the troubling times. However, we do have one clear sign Jukeyz is already back to the grind mentality as he asked “if Modern Warfare 2 is out yet” shortly after waking up. While still a ways out from the full release, it’s obviously an encouraging sign the streamer is eager to get healthy and back on the sticks. While there’s clearly no indication for when that might be, fans can rest assured Jukeyz is on the path to recovery after the traumatic asthma attack. As one of England’s top Warzone personalities, Jukeyz is not only a top streamer, with hundreds tuning in daily, but a formidable competitor too, ranking among the scene’s highest earners. His success even landed him a spot with the London Royal Ravens, the region’s Call of Duty League franchise. Just weeks prior to the emergency, Jukeyz also became a father as he and his partner Emily welcomed Elijah to the world. Thankfully, with the help of medical experts, it seems just a matter of time until Jukeyz is properly back on his feet and out of the hospital. Fingers crossed, we might just see him online when Modern Warfare 2 goes live on October 28.

Warzone pro Jukeyz hospitalized in induced coma after asthma attack – Dexerto
Warzone pro Jukeyz hospitalized in induced coma after asthma attack Red Bull Content PoolWarzone pro Liam ‘Jukeyz’ James has been hospitalized and put in an induced coma on September 27 after suffering from a “bad asthma attack” the night prior, his partner has confirmed. Jukeyz, from the UK, became one of the biggest names in Warzone after the game first launched in 2020, regularly winning tournaments and competing against the very best despite playing from halfway across the world. He is one of the top earners in the game and put on a clinic at the World Series of Warzone in early September, coming 3rd in the Solo YOLO tournament and nearly pocketing himself $100,000 in the process. Just a couple of weeks prior, Jukeyz had celebrated the birth of his first-born, a son named Elijah. One month later, Jukeyz’s girlfriend Emily shared on Twitter that James had been hospitalized and was “not in a good state,” but didn’t want to go into detail. The following day, on September 27, an update was provided from Emily through Jukeyz’s Twitter account, confirming that he was in a medically induced coma after having what she describes as a bad asthma attack. She added: “The good news is he is responding well to the medication, and will be woken up once his body recovers more.” The replies to this tweet were instantly full of love, support, and prayers from a number of notable names in the community, including several Warzone and CDL pros. With all seeming to be improving and Jukeyz’s condition stabilizing, it’s looking up for the London Royal Ravens Warzone pro, and he’ll no doubt update fans on his condition when he’s able to.

Warzone pro Jukeyz banned from competing for watching bikini Twitch stream at tournament – Dexerto
Warzone pro Jukeyz banned from competing for watching bikini Twitch stream at tournament Twitch: Novaruu/Red BullPopular Warzone pro, Jukeyz, has been hit with a ban after he was recently caught watching an “inappropriate” stream while playing. During the broadcast for OpTic Gaming’s $200K tournament, while most streamers were warming up their aim, Jukeyz was caught watching a bikini stream from novaruu. The commentators noticed this and immediately pointed it out to the audience. Despite reactions from the community being pretty casual and poking fun, Activision has had a more strict response to the incident. Jukeyz himself announced the punishment without being able to give a lot of information about the ban. Jukeyz is banned from Warzone events for some time It didn’t take long for Activision to dish out the punishment for Jukeyz, as the pro took to Twitter/X to announce the ban himself: “Just got banned for competing in Activision ran tournaments for at least 2 months…” He went on to explain that he had no idea if he would be able to appeal the ban or not. The community response to the ban has been supportive of Jukeyz, with one user responding: “what a joke.” Some pointed out the irony of being punished by being banned from a game broadcast that was about an 18+ game like Warzone. Of course, this is all occurring after Twitch recently updated their sexual content guidelines after controversy erupted over the platform’s “topless” meta that was gaining popularity. The conversation around this topic will continue as fans wait to see if Jukeyz will be able to appeal his ban, and what Twitch will do with their content guidelines in the future.

Warzone pro JoeWo discovers shotgun loadout so broken he tried to hide attachments – Dexerto
Warzone pro JoeWo discovers shotgun loadout so broken he tried to hide attachments Activision / JoeWoHaving the perfect loadout in Warzone is essential for dropping high-kill games and when JoeWo discovered a broken Double Barrel shotgun class, he didn’t want to show fans the attachments. JoeWo was minding his own business as he dropped into a Rebirth game to warm up before he started sweating in Caldera lobbies. In that game, he picked up akimbo shotguns and ended up putting in some work with them. Naturally, this triggered his curiosity and, before loading into his next match, he wanted to try and replicate that loadout for himself. He shows off some gameplay with these in a YouTube video, but left fans in the dark when he didn’t reveal the loadout. JoeWo hides broken Warzone loadout from viewers In the description of his YouTube video, he states: “Do not come in here looking for attachments! I’m not giving them out!” But luckily for you, we did some digging. Despite trying to hide the setup from his YouTube viewers, we went back to JoeWo’s Twitch VOD from December 22 (41:28 timestamp) and found the exact attachments that the demon used on his Double Barrel Shotgun. We have those listed for you below: JoeWo’s Double Barrel Shotgun Warzone Loadout Muzzle: M97 Full Choke – Barrel: Sawed-Off – Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x – Stock: Removed Stock – Ammunition: Incendiary – Rear Grip: Fabric Grip – Perk: Akimbo – Perk 2: Quick – While it may seem like a joke at first, these shotguns actually work similarly to the snake shot pistols that have been meta on multiple occasions. So… Snake Shots are back for Warzone Pacific? 😳 (via @Speros_OG)pic.twitter.com/z1R8IVzjCZ — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) December 7, 2021 While the shotgun only has two slugs in the chamber, it does insanely high damage and, as seen in JoeWo’s gameplay, this has an extremely high range for a close-quarters gun. This makes it viable in most scenarios that you will find yourself in. JoeWo goes crazy with these and called them “the most broken, not clickbait, secondary of all-time in Warzone.” So next time you drop into Warzone, give these a try and see if they are as busted as advertised.

Warzone pro IceManIsaac claims melee changes will force players to use “gunskill” – Dexerto
Warzone pro IceManIsaac claims melee changes will force players to use “gunskill” Activision / IceManIsaacLooking forward to Warzone Pacific, streamer IceManIsaac revealed his favorite change: the melee nerf, because he thinks it will make players rely on “gunskill.” Warzone’s new Pacific map is changing the game that we have known for the past 18 months. From a brand-new map to an anti-cheat, there is a lot to be excited for. However, one of the biggest changes comes with the melee system and the removal of gun-butting, which allowed players to take down enemies with just two attacks. Pro Warzone player IceManIsaac is excited about this as he believes it will force everyone to use their gunskill instead of taking the easy route. Warzone streamer IceManIsaac excited for melee changes In a YouTube video, IceManIsaac broke down some of the new features coming with Warzone Pacific — but one stood really out to him. “My favorite change coming to Warzone Pacific is the melee nerf.” This is targeting the overpowered Kali Sticks along with weapon melees. Instead of gun-butting being strong enough to take down people in two hits, the system will adjust to be less overwhelming. He said this is easily is his favorite thing because it can create a skill gap on Caldera. “Let’s use our gunskill here, especially since we’re coming back from the Gulag with actual weapons.” On Verdansk, players would constantly drop in and run at people instead of taking a gunfight since the TTK for meleeing was extremely low. This can definitely shake up things on the new map as players might need to rely on their ‘gunnies’ a bit more. While no one knows the exact way it will work, the Warzone star hopes it is similar to the likes of Apex Legends where punches do around 20 damage per hit. Warzone Pacific is set to launch on December 8 with Season 1 of Vanguard. In the meantime, stay updated on all Call of Duty news for the latest information.

Warzone pro HusKerrs reveals go-to loadout from “world record” game – Dexerto
Warzone pro HusKerrs reveals go-to loadout from “world record” game Activision / HusKerrsWarzone star HusKerrs dropped an insane 61 kills record-setting game in Vanguard Royale Quads. Now, he’s revealed the go-to loadout he used for the Automaton and Welgun. The meta in Warzone Pacific Season 2 has been anything but set in stone. With nerfs to the Bren and Mp-40 this has been one of the most diverse seasons in quite some time. With nearly half of the Vanguard weapons popping up in the meta, different guns have shined as Raven Software continue to balance the game. Warzone pros have been debating which weapons should be the go-to but HusKerrs may have settled the argument after he dropped an insane 61 kill game. HusKerrs reveals Warzone loadout in 61 kill game On March 6 HusKerrs tweeted out that he set a new world record on Vanguard Royale Quads with 61 kills. While there is no way to confirm if this is actually a world record, it’s still an impressive mark nonetheless. HOLY FK 61 KILLS IN VG ROYALE QUADS ‼️‼️‼️ pic.twitter.com/D4F7VIWDdn — HusKerrs (@HusKerrs) March 6, 2022 On top of the kill count, he was playing will fill teammates, so he had no external help other than his handy loadout. In a YouTube video, HusKerrs posted the entire gameplay from his match and in there he revealed which two guns are the best to use right now. In the video, HusKerrs is seen using the Automaton, which was also used by Tommey in his $100k tournament win. While he didn’t reveal his attachments, from inspecting the weapon from his gameplay it appeared to be the same meta loadout that everyone is running, which you can find here. He paired it up with arguably the best SMG since the MP-40 nerf, the Welgun. The likes of TrueGameData has deemed this one of the deadliest subs in the game and HusKerrs put it on full display. Again, he didn’t show his setup but expect it to be similar to the popular loadout players are running. So, if you’re struggling to figure out the Warzone meta this season, definitely give these two weapons a try.

Warzone pro HusKerrs might switch to controller due to “broken” aim assist – Dexerto
Warzone pro HusKerrs might switch to controller due to “broken” aim assist Instagram: HusKerrsWarzone star HusKerrs has said that he frequently debates switching to controller instead of mouse & keyboard, becoming increasingly frustrated with how powerful aim assist is for controller players. HusKerrs has been one of the biggest names in the battle royale genre for years now, consistently dominating tournaments across a number of different BR games. Warzone is no different, with the Luminosity Gaming streamer ranking as the fifth-highest earner of all time in tournaments for the Call of Duty battle royale hit, raking in almost $350k since the game launched in March 2020. The aim assist debate has been one that’s raged on since way before Warzone even launched. It first became common when Fortnite crossplay launched, but it’s spanned across multiple games and, ironically, divided much of the playerbase as they debate the issue. Now, HusKerrs has admitted that he frequently questions whether he should switch to controller, and that it’s “always floating in his head.” He said: “Do I force myself to switch to controller and become a better player because of how broken AA is, or do I stay on MnK to keep my pride and prevent losing a group of viewers that enjoy watching MnK? Some other streamers responded to HusKerrs tweet, attempting to convince him one way or the other. For example, Jukeyz told him that the “dark side awaits,” while ChocoTaco said that controller is best if he wants to win tournaments, but mouse & keyboard is “more satisfying & rewarding.” I think if you’re competing in tourneys and stuff controller is the way to win. Otherwise kbm is much more satisfying and rewarding imo. — chocoTaco (@chocoTaco) January 6, 2023 Another streamer, bbreadman, posted a clip to Twitter that he got after switching to controller for one game, saying that “there’s no way this should be allowed.” Whether HusKerrs actually does end up switching remains to be seen, but as a longtime opponent of aim assist in video games, he might be facing a pretty big moral battle with himself while deciding.

Warzone pro Huskerrs left speechless by ‘impossible’ throwing knife play – Dexerto
Warzone pro Huskerrs left speechless by ‘impossible’ throwing knife play Activision/HuskerrsWhen you’ve played as much Warzone as Jordan “Huskerrs” Thomas it’s hard to find something you haven’t seen before, but this enemy’s unreal throwing knife play certainly did the trick. The incident occurred during an April 16 stream where Huskerrs was taking on a few games of solo quads. His team was on a hot start with the streamer collecting 11 kills while more than 60 members of the lobby were still alive. The group decided to capitalize on their early success and get as aggressive as possible with the help of an armored truck. After securing a new target the squad dove into the action, instantly knocking an enemy before driving head-on towards the fight, but that’s when things went south. Huskerrs left in stunned silence after throwing knife outplay While converting a 4v3 into a squad wipe is normally no harder than breathing for the multi-FPS champion, this particular run was cut short by a witty opponent. There was nothing but an open road between the streamer and his next victim, that is until a well-placed knife delivered a knockout punch right through the windshield. It took him a while to recover from the shock of being outplayed this hard, as the stream was silent for over a minute and a half. He eventually broke the silent spell with a simple question: “Dude, how is that even possible?” Of course, Huskerrs wasn’t the only one stunned by this as both his chat and the rest of the internet was confounded as well. One commenter joked that the person who threw the knife had secret perks that the rest of the world doesn’t know about: “What the f**k, that dude has FMJ on his throwing knife.” While it’s not clear if this is an intended ability of the throwing knife or not, it’s safe to say that everyone will be rethinking their vehicle strategies if this tactic starts to catch on.

Warzone pro HusKerrs explains why controller is better than mouse & keyboard – Dexerto
Warzone pro HusKerrs explains why controller is better than mouse & keyboard Twitter, @HusKerrs / PexelsSome of Call of Duty: Warzone’s best mouse and keyboard pros have weighed in on the input debate, with star player HusKerrs explaining why he thinks controllers are better for Warzone. While the console vs PC debate is one thing, there’s an entire input debate just between players on PC as well. Do you prefer to play using a controller or a mouse and keyboard? This debate varies greatly depending on the game you play as well. In Overwatch, mouse and keyboard are considered the premier method of playing — by far. In Fortnite, the vast majority of top players all prefer mouse and keyboard as well. But in Call of Duty, the majority of players use controllers. HusKerrs is an MKB player and the only player inside Warzone’s top 10 highest earners who doesn’t use a controller. When a fellow MKB streamer, IceManIsaac, surprisingly revealed that he thought controller was better — HusKerrs agreed and explained how it provides an advantage. Duh, it has always been that way. Movement is easier, close range fights are easier (which is 80% of fights in tournies and in general). The only advantages we really have are long range engagements and maybe quickly snapping to a second target in some rare instances — HusKerrs (@HusKerrs) July 9, 2021 As HusKerrs points out, controller players are at an advantage because of movement and close-range fights. The former is likely thanks to analog sticks, which make it very easy and intuitive to move your character in a full range of motion. The latter point is likely due to aim assist, which means that players are able to keep their cross-hairs on opponents up close while moving around. HusKerrs has yet to make the change, but Isaac definitely seems to be planning on it. Since he’s a top-three earner in the game, a popular saying comes to mind for Husk: “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Still, both IceManIsaac and Husk ultimately agree that MKB players have an advantage at longer ranges where aim assist is less of a factor, but don’t weigh that pro over controller’s two strengths. While aware that MKB might be better for future esports titles, both seem to think controller is the way to go for Warzone. No word yet on if HusKerrs will be making the swap though.

Warzone pro Fifakill bashes one-shot snipers and fire shotguns for “killing” Ranked Play – Dexerto
Warzone pro Fifakill bashes one-shot snipers and fire shotguns for “killing” Ranked Play ActivisionJust a few days into Warzone Season 4, Fifakill is already worried about one-shot snipers and fire shotguns being overpowered in Ranked Play. The KV Broadside Shotgun briefly held a stranglehold on Warzone’s meta. Players discovered the devastating shotgun could take down enemies in just two shots with the Dragon’s Breath attachment. Community members caught wind of the shotgun’s “broken” power and demanded a nerf. Infinity Ward responded by nerfing the KV Broadside shotgun in Season 2 Reloaded. But in a move that surprised some community members, the devs buffed shotguns as part of the Season 4 update. The class returning to its former glory, partnered with one-shot sniper rifles, have Warzone pro Fifakill up in arms. One-shot snipers and shotguns dominate Warzone Season 4 meta Fifakill didn’t mince words when expressing his first impressions of Warzone Ranked Play in Season 4. The Warzone pro player claimed: “1 shot sniper/ fire shotty meta is killing ranked play right now.” The KV Broadside had its minimum damage decreased in Season 4, but the 12 Gauge Dragon’s Breath attachment had its close-range damage increased slightly. The change increased the KV Broadside’s two-shot kill range, but we don’t quite know the exact values yet. As for sniper rifles, they received an indirect buff in the latest seasonal update. Player health increased from 100 to 150, bringing maximum health up to 300 for a player that is fully armored. This means it requires more shots to down an enemy. However, sniper rifles still have the ability to one-hit-kill an enemy with a successful headshot. So theoretically, an accurate sniper can eliminate enemies much faster than if they used a different weapon. According to WZ Ranked, the MCPR-300 sniper is currently the third most popular weapon in Warzone, and the KV Broadside has climbed back up to seventh. The Cronen Squall and Lachmann Sub still hold comfortable leads, but seeing how long that holds this season will be interesting. If you still need to update your loadouts for Warzone Ranked Play after the latest update, make sure to check our useful guide.

Warzone pro FaZe Kalei forced to take drastic action to combat stream snipers – Dexerto
Warzone pro FaZe Kalei forced to take drastic action to combat stream snipers Activision / KaleiStreamer mode is a massive feature that Warzone players have been begging for, but since there isn’t one, FaZe Kalei is taking drastic measures to fight off stream snipers. Stream sniping has and will always be around but there are ways to control it and make it less of a problem. When it comes to Warzone, streamers like Kalei can put themselves at a disadvantage by showing their location. While the Warzone star still wants to broadcast and entertain her viewers, she said she will need to go through many unnecessary steps just to avoid people trying to ruin her game. FaZe Kalei claims to make alt accounts for Warzone tournaments In a since-deleted tweet, Warzone pro Kalei said she is fed up with the stream sniping issue and will have to “use a whole different CoD account for tourneys.” Kalei was just minding her business playing Warzone on a January 8 broadcast, when she was repeatedly getting stream sniped over and over. This was the second time in a week it has been a huge problem for her. Warzone does have a streamer mode in the game, but it doesn’t work how it should. Instead of blocking the streamer’s name from other players it only does it for that person’s screen. This means that everyone else in the lobby can check the kill feed and see if a popular pro or streamer is in their game. Kalei also added, “delay or not once people realize they are in your game it’s GG.” Players have brought this up in the past, and back in May of 2021 Raven Software claimed to be listening to feedback regarding this issue. Fast forward to January of 2022 and there still isn’t a proper streamer mode in Warzone.

Warzone pro FaZe Booya details ‘SMG’ CR-56 AMAX designed for Rebirth Island – Dexerto
Warzone pro FaZe Booya details ‘SMG’ CR-56 AMAX designed for Rebirth Island ActivisionFaZe Clan Warzone competitor Booya has outlined his CR-56 AMAX loadout for Rebirth Island, claiming the Modern Warfare assault rifle can be built to emulate a devastating submachine gun. With Call of Duty: Vanguard’s weapons the most recent to be added to the Warzone weapon pool, the majority of ‘meta’ guns currently come from the WWII title. However, plenty of players are still finding that weapons from Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War can dominate, provided they are used in the right way and with the most powerful attachments. That is the case with Modern Warfare’s CR-56 AMAX which, despite being dominant in past seasons, has fallen away considerably in terms of popularity since the Vanguard era began in Warzone. According to competitive player Booya though, there is an SMG build of the gun that dominates Rebirth Island. Outlining his build in a May 13 YouTube video, he described it as “really good [when used] as a close range and medium range SMG.” The build removes the stock to make the AMAX easier to play aggressively with, while also seeking to mitigate recoil to some degree. Designed for a fast play-style and dipping in and out of combat, the AMAX SMG build is ideal for Rebirth Island where gunfights tend to be closer range and more frenetic. The full build is outlined below: Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor – Laser: Tac Laser – Stock: No Stock – Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip – Magazine: 45 Round Mags – Naturally, players will need a longer range weapon for those situations where the AMAX leaves something to be desired. While you could opt for the nerfed Kar98k, we’d recommend the ZRG 20mm, purely for the damage it can inflict on opponents. If you’re really confident in your aim and recoil control, you could also try it out in Caldera but, with the health changes impacting the different maps, bear in mind it might feel different.

Warzone pro exposes their cheats during $100k tournament, blames it on glitch – Dexerto
Warzone pro exposes their cheats during $100k tournament, blames it on glitch ActivisionA Warzone pro has disappeared off the internet after seemingly outing himself as using cheats during the $100k Warzone World Classic tournament. While many of the headaches around cheating in Call of Duty: Warzone have come in public matches, some players have been able to avoid detection and get them into lucrative online tournaments. Given that many of these tournaments are streamed to thousands of viewers, plenty of these would-be cheaters have been exposed and ultimately ruined their reputation as some of the best players around. Some have even slipped up themselves and shown off their cheats while trying to keep them a secret. With Warzone 2 launching, tournaments have been coming thick and first. The $100,000 Warzone World Classic is the biggest yet, but players had suspicions about Exoniz, a player who was representing Turkey. Warzone pro Exoniz exposes cheats mid-tournament In the build-up to the event, which kicked off on December 6, a handful of players posted clips of Exoniz’s gameplay to social media, trying to alert the tournament organizers to their suspicions. The player was ultimately allowed to participate, however, during the tournament, he tried to disprove the claims by showing off his monitor to viewers on Twitch. Yet, upon moving the monitor around, a menu popped up in the middle of the screen. The Turkish representative claimed that it was just a glitch because he has multiple monitors, but others quickly pointed out that it looked a lot more like a cheat menu rather than the display configuration. With the clip going viral around Twitter, the streamer ditched his Twitch stream and deleted the VOD. However, since then, both his Twitter and Twitch accounts have been removed. Exoniz’s teammate for the tournament, forpantheonn, initially defended him from the claims, but ultimately apologized. “I got shocked and blocked him immediately. I’m sorry for everything,” he tweeted. The tournament still has a day to run, but Turkey have seemingly been disqualified as their results now read as a complete clean sweep of losses.

Warzone pro DiazBiffle unveils his insane tournament loadout – Dexerto
Warzone pro DiazBiffle unveils his insane tournament loadout DiazBiffle/ActivisionWarzone pro player DiazBiffle has unveiled his incredible tournament loadout, the likes of which he used to win Huskerrs’ $50,000 Top Dog Duos event. The rise of Call of Duty’s Warzone as a lucrative esport has seen a new generation of pros join CoD veterans in Verdansk ’84. One of the new stars on the scene is DiazBiffle, whose incredible talents and likeable personality have seen him explode in popularity as both a competitor and content creator. His recent accolades include first place in Huskerrs’ $50,000 Top Dog Duos event, won alongside streamer SuperEvan. If you’re wondering what class setup he uses to dominate like this, we’ve taken a look at his weapons and perks of choice. “”There’s just no way!”” Absolutely insane @DiazBiffle 🤯 pic.twitter.com/Y1dviTiI6R — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) April 4, 2021 DiazBiffle’s Warzone loadout Firstly, it’s an overkill class with the CR-56 AMAX joined by the Black Ops Cold War AK-47. While most players opt for more variety in their weapons, Diaz has gone for two ARs that flourish at both medium and close range. His perks are Double Time, Overkill and Amped, with a Semtex and Heartbeat Sensor occupying his lethal and tactical spots. In terms of attachments, his CR-56 AMAX comes equipped with a Monolithic Suppressor, VLK 3.0x Optic, X4K Zodiac barrel, Commando Foregrip and 45 round mags. His AK-47 uses a KGB Skeletal Stock, 45 round mags, Tiger Team Spotlight, Serpent Wrap and 20” Spetsnaz RPK Barrel. As previously mentioned, two ARs likely won’t suit every single player. SMGs like the MAC-10 and LC10 have come into their own recently, while the Kar98k is still one of the all-round most popular weapons in the game. Don’t be discouraged from using this class for those reasons, but bare in mind you might not have the edge at very long range. But, the AK-47 has been used lots by top players as an up-close weapon, as it has massive damage per second. Play sensibly, though, and this class will undoubtedly help you secure a few victories.

Warzone pro DiazBiffle uncovers potential meta changing Ranked Play loadout – Dexerto
Warzone pro DiazBiffle uncovers potential meta changing Ranked Play loadout ActivisonThe Cronen Squall still sits comfortably atop Warzone’s weapon popularity rankings. However, after seeing a nerf in Season 4, DiazBiffle isn’t ruling out a potential meta change in Ranked Play. Infinity Ward finally stepped in and nerfed the Cronen Squall as part of the Season 4 update. The battle rifle now requires more successfully landed bullets in full and semi-auto modes to take down enemies. It may take some time for Warzone’s meta to adjust, but two days into the fresh season, the Cronen Squall still leads all weapons with a 20.4% pick rate, according to WZ Ranked. But, a new challenger is quietly climbing the popularity rankings in a move that’s flying under the radar. The Lachmann-556 is now the fourth most selected weapon in Warzone after the Season 4 update, and DiazBiffle unveiled a deadly loadout perfectly suited for Ranked Play. What is the best Warzone Ranked Play weapon in Season 4? Similar to Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play, Warzone Ranked Play competitors only tend to use a handful of weapons. But unlike the competitive multiplayer scene, Warzone’s meta constantly evolves based on the ebbs and flows of weapon balancing updates. So even though most lobbies are full of Cronen Squall and Lachmann Sub users at the moment, that trend won’t last forever. And DiazBiffle may be ahead of the curve on what’s next by using a Lachmann-556. A high damage output and laser-accurate precision make the Lachmann-556 an intriguing option in Season 4. Especially considering operators now have 50 more health after the latest update, landing every possible shot is imperative. Best Lachmann-556 Warzone loadout in Season 4 Here is Biffle’s Lachmann-556 loadout with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: Harbinger D20 (+1.40, +1.00) – Barrel: 15.9″ Lachmann RAPP Barrel (+0.50, +0.40) – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper (+0.80, +0.40) – Optic: Aim OP-V4 (-3.00, +1.80) – Magazine: 60 Round Mag – We still expect the Cronen Squall to remain popular in Warzone Ranked Play, but the Lachmann-556 provides an interesting alternative. For all of the best Ranked Play loadouts, make sure to check out our guide.

Warzone pro DiazBiffle shares “zero recoil” Automaton loadout for competitive tournaments – Dexerto
Warzone pro DiazBiffle shares “zero recoil” Automaton loadout for competitive tournaments ActivisionWarzone competitor and streamer ‘DiazBiffle’ has unveiled his go-to no-recoil Automaton loadout for tournaments, maximizing the lethality of the fast-firing Vanguard assault rifle. Since Warzone’s explosion in popularity, few have been recognized as better players than competitive streamer DiazBiffle. Despite only being 19 years of age, his speed, gun-skill and IQ have seen him rightly identified as one of Warzone’s most premier talents, regularly featuring on our top Warzone player rankings. Naturally, plenty of players want to drop into their own games with his loadouts, giving them the best chance of securing their own success in Warzone. On that note, Diaz unveiled his no recoil Automaton loadout to use in Warzone Pacific Season 2. DiazBiffle’s Automaton Warzone Pacific Loadout Revealed in a March 6 YouTube video, the streamer designed the Automaton to maximize its accuracy, reducing its modest recoil even further. The biggest strength of the Automaton is its fire rate, going some way to explain why Diaz also uses the 75 Rnd Drums on his build. Sticking with smaller mags is a sure-fire way to land yourself in trouble with the Automaton. There’s also the MX Silencer – the only must-have attachment on every Vanguard weapon. The full loadout is detailed and pictured below. Muzzle: MX Silencer – Barrel: ZAC 600mm BFA – Optic: G16 2.5x – Stock: Anastasia Padded – Rear Grip: Polymer Grip – Magazine: 6.5mm Sakura 75 Round Drums – Ammunition: Lengthened – Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop – Perk: Tight Grip – Perk 2: Fully Loaded – While plenty of Vanguard weapons – specifically the MP40 and Bren – saw hefty nerfs in February, the Automaton remains pretty much unscathed as Raven wield their nerfing tools. That appears to be translating into more players picking it up in-game, as it climbs slightly closer to Warzone’s top 10 most popular weapons. One thing’s for sure: using this loadout in Caldera gives you as good a chance as any of taking home the victory.

Warzone pro DiazBiffle pulls off craziest 1v4 ever to secure victory – Dexerto
Warzone pro DiazBiffle pulls off craziest 1v4 ever to secure victory Twitter: DiazBiffle / ActivisionPopular Warzone competitor DiazBiffle left fans mind-blown with an insane victory in CoD’s BR, winning by eliminating the final four opponents in one of the flashiest clutches you’ll ever see. The popularity of Warzone means we’ve seen some of the world’s top gamers transition into full-time competing, joined by some ex-professional CoD players like Rated and Tommey. It’s also given scope for young talented players like DiazBiffle to amass significant followings thanks to their insane talents. Diaz’ Twitch following sits at 175,000, with fans regularly tuning in to see his top-tier gameplay. Clips like this show just why he’s managed to accumulate such an audience. We ranked Diaz as the best Warzone player in the world in March 2021. With the final circle closing in at Krovnik Farmland, Diaz found himself trapped in one of the area’s many huts. To make matters worse, too, he was trapped right next to a team of four, who were standing between him and another Warzone victory. What follows is one of the most insane moments we’ve seen in Warzone. Using his FFAR, Diaz quickly downed one of the remaining enemies searching for him. He then snapped onto an on-rushing enemy coming through the hut’s back door, before moving into the hut’s main room. A third enemy was knocked, with Diaz then dipping out the front door and pulling out his Kar98, securing the win with a flashy quick-scope collateral to eliminate the remaining enemy and one who picked himself back up. Like us and his watching audience, Diaz’ teammates could scarcely believe what they’d just seen. He finished the game with 28 kills and just shy of 10,000 damage, in an incredible display of attacking CoD. The 1v4, carried out so quickly and with such aplomb, highlights Diaz as one of the top players in the world at CoD’s battle royale. We’ve seen a fair few incredible plays in the CoD scene recently, like this jaw-dropping nuke achieved in Modern Warfare’s Shipment 10v10 mode.

Warzone pro caught watching bikini Twitch stream live on tournament broadcast – Dexerto
Warzone pro caught watching bikini Twitch stream live on tournament broadcast Twitch: Jukeyz/novaruuWarzone pro Jukeyz was caught watching a bikini Twitch stream live on a tournament broadcast in a hilarious moment. As OpTic Gaming’s $200K Warzone tournament kicks off, bringing us one of Warzone’s first major events in the MW3 era, some of the game’s biggest names are all vying for a share of the prize pool. And as many of the world’s top competitors geared up for their games, with their individual streams being shown on the main broadcast, many were simply practicing their aim and warming up. However, one player in particular, Jukeyz, was caught watching a questionable stream instead. Liam “Jukeyz” James, a CoD pro player and streamer, also one of the highest earners in Warzone history, was caught watching a bikini Twitch stream, live, on broadcast. Noticed by OpTic Hitch who was on the desk as host, he was visibly holding in his laughter and pointed out Jukeyz’s stream which was playing on the massive screen behind the desk. His POV was shared for all to see. “What’s happening here?” Hitch asked as he pointed to Jukeyz’s perspective, much to the shock of the rest of the desk. The bikini stream he was watching was Twitch streamer novaruu, who happened to be dressed as a scantily reindeer. “Look Mom I’m on TV!” novaruu reacted to the clip. “Bro actually got caught in 4k this is insane.” Jukeyz responded to the clip going viral, saying, “I have no words for this I was just trying to hit a regain sorry.” And much of the community’s reaction was poking fun, albeit at Jukeyz’s expense. “Ain’t nothing wrong with a little pregame bloodrush,” one commenter replied to Jukeyz’s tweet. Of course, this hilarious clip comes as Twitch updates its sexual content guidelines, with the platform relaxing policies around such content, as long as it’s clearly labeled.

Warzone pro breaks victim’s ankles with “evil” parked car trick – Dexerto
Warzone pro breaks victim’s ankles with “evil” parked car trick ActivisionA Call of Duty: Warzone streamer pulled off one of the most ridiculous finesses, leaving a victim completely bamboozled in a gunfight by using a parked car trick. It’s so bad that some have already called it “evil.” Pieman isn’t the most renowned Warzone streamer, as he hasn’t won quite as many tournaments as some of the others. But the mouse and keyboard player is certainly no slouch and, as it turns out, has a very unique playstyle. While fans have seen plays using seat-swapping in cars to hit shots, there’s a Pie play that shocked many. It’s from back in August, but didn’t truly emerge until now, and boy are we glad that it did. In the play, Pieman is running around when a random player aggressively drives up to him — ready for action. But Pie immediately uses that player’s parked car against him, popping in and out of it while seat-swapping to secure a ridiculous gunfight win. Warzone streamer uses ‘car bamboozle’ trick Wait how have I never seen this @Piemxn play before?! The car bamboozle… 😵💫 pic.twitter.com/cS3dVUu41V — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) December 5, 2021 As you can see in the clip, Pie tries to land a snipe on the vehicle first. After it misses, he hides for a split second as the pursuer parks and gets out. Once the car is parked, Pie immediately runs straight into the vehicle, swaps seats, and breaks the pursuer’s armor from the passenger seat. At this point, Pie has become the hunter, the pursuer has become prey, and said prey starts running around the car in absolute confusion. Then Pie waits for a second, jumps back out of the vehicle, slide cancels away for a couple more shots, then… gets back in and seat swaps again. With a few last shots from the passenger seat, Pieman kills his victim. The play is legitimately absurd. And the quick-thinking finessing had the victim so confused that Pie ended up only losing about half a plate of armor. In the replies, reactions ranged from calling the tricky behavior “evil” to saying he has the “most insane m&k movement.” While it will be hard to replicate as fluidly for normal players, the stationary car, seat-swapping trick is definitely worth keeping in mind since it can apparently be very effective.

Warzone pro Booya unleashes BAR loadout to win tourney after Automaton nerfs – Dexerto
Warzone pro Booya unleashes BAR loadout to win tourney after Automaton nerfs Activision / Twitter, @FaZeBooyaA Call of Duty: Warzone patch randomly dropped, nerfing meta guns like the Automaton ahead of a $25,000 tournament. But FaZe Booya responded by unveiling a new Vanguard BAR loadout and dominating the event. For the first week or so of Warzone Pacific, it became apparent that the Automaton was the best long-range gun available. It had minimal recoil, a quality damage profile and could shred enemies with ease. It was so obvious that the Auto was lethal that Raven Software decided to nerf it multiple times. The final nerf came in a spontaneous December 15 patch, right at the start of a $25,000 tournament. While others struggled to regain after the Auto’s recoil was “greatly increased,” Booya smoothly transitioned to the BAR. Several hours of tournament dominance later, he was thousands richer and the Warzone community had a new loadout to grind out. Warzone pro Booya shows off devastating new BAR loadout To save you some time from scrolling, here’s Booya’s full BAR class setup. Muzzle: MX Silencer – Barrel: CGC 30” XL – Optic: 1229/Slate 3.25x Custom – Stock: Cooper SP – Perk: Hardscope – Perk 2: Fully Loaded – Rear Grip: Leather Grip – Magazine: .50 BMG 40 Round Mag – Ammunition: Lengthened – Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip – As you’ll notice, it has a number of attachments to control recoil and prioritize damage (especially at range), with some upping ADS speed as well. Overall, it’s still a relatively slow gun, but a beast in the right hands. And Booya’s hands are most certainly the right ones, seeing as how dominant he was with the BAR throughout the tournament. Booya dominates Warzone tournament with BAR class As you can see in the clip above, Booya’s BAR was taking players out with ease. He finished the tournament with a win and a 9.0 K/D, while only one other competitor was able to finish above 6.8. Of course, not all of those kills can be attributed to the BAR – but it definitely played a part. If you’re looking for an Automaton replacement and can withstand the weirdly slow firing rate, this class could be the move.

Warzone pro Booya shows off insane Grau 5.56 Rebirth Island loadout – Dexerto
Warzone pro Booya shows off insane Grau 5.56 Rebirth Island loadout Activision/FaZeFaZe Booya is one of the most respected names in the Warzone community and his Grau 5.56 loadout is perfect for the chaotic scenes of Rebirth Island. Rebirth has been on a steady rise in popularity for much of 2022. The fast-paced game mode seamlessly blends long-range firefights and up-close engagements with the thrill of a game mode that typically runs half as long as a match on Caldera. This kind of well-balanced battling means players need to have an equally well-balanced loadout if they’re going to find success on the map and thankfully Warzone expert Booya has just the right setup for anyone looking to up their game. FaZe Booya’s Grau 5.56 Rebirth Island loadout This version of the gun will look familiar to longtime fans of the game as it’s essentially the same loadout that dominated the early days of Verdansk after the initial M4A1 nerf. While the older version usually sported an additional 3x scope in favor of the Tac Laser, the smaller scale of Rebirth Island means you can swap out range for speed and maximize the gun’s enormous potential. Muzzle: GRU Suppressor – Barrel: Tempus 26.4″ Archangel – Laser: Tac Laser – Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip – Magazine: 60 Round Mag – This setup is a little outdated in comparison to new favorites like the Volk and the Cooper Carbine, but that doesn’t stop it from turning enemies into swiss cheese with its incredibly low recoil and high rate of fire. If you’re looking to pair one throwback build with another you could also try out JoeWo’s retro OTs-9 as a thematically appropriate companion on your next time dropping into the island.

Warzone pro Booya reveals new Bullfrog loadout to dominate Rebirth Island – Dexerto
Warzone pro Booya reveals new Bullfrog loadout to dominate Rebirth Island Activision / Twitter: FaZe BooyaFor every Rebirth Island demon that’s out there, Warzone star FaZe Booya has found a new Bullfrog loadout that absolutely destroys enemies on the map. Submachine guns have always been a popular pick on Rebirth as the smaller map favors people that like to player aggressive. But, with the integration of Vanguard into Warzone with the Pacific update, some players have struggled to pick between the current MP-40 and other close-range weapons from previous titles. It’s important to have a good gun for short fights and Booya has rediscovered the perfect loadout by utilizing a Cold War loadout that is still deadly as ever. Warzone star Booya shows Rebirth Island Bullfrog loadout Booya is considered a top Warzone player and even shares a world record on Caldera for most kills in a Quads game. Now, he shows off a great SMG loadout for players that want to get up close and personal. While it may seem that the Bullfrog meta was ages ago, it could making a triumphant return to the close quarters map. Let’s take a look at the attachments he uses. Bullfrog loadout Muzzle: Sound Suppressor – Barrel: 7.4″ Task Force – Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock – Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip – Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap – In this setup he still uses the normal barrel and stock attachment. But, he goes for the Bruiser Grip and Serpent Wrap instead of using a magazine. This allows for extra ADS speed as well as recoil control. From his game play, you can see that this works great as a sniper support in Warzone. The Bullfrog is extremely viable in short to medium range fights so you can afford to use it in the majority of Rebirth engagements. This gun can be a nice change up from the meta MP-40 the players are seemingly spamming. So, next time you load into the fast-paced action, give this loadout a try and see if it’s just as good as it used to be.

Warzone pro Booya reveals “amazing” hipfire STEN loadout for Rebirth Island – Dexerto
Warzone pro Booya reveals “amazing” hipfire STEN loadout for Rebirth Island Activison/YouTube: BooyaThought of by many in the Warzone as the King of Rebirth Island, FaZe Booya is back with a new hipfire STEN loadout that could change the game for aggressive players who are looking to ramp their elimination count up as high it can go. It’s no secret that Booya is one of the most talented Rebirth Island players out there. From high-kill games to pro lobbies, he has run the gamut of Warzone competitions. That’s what makes him such a trustworthy name, so when he says this new STEN loadout is one that everyone needs to try, the game’s most serious players are encouraged to heed the call. FaZe Booya’s hipfire STEN loadout on Rebirth Island In a May 9 video on his channel, the YouTuber proved just how lethal this set up could be by absolutely taking over a few games with it. In his first run, he racked up 25 elims and a staggering 10k damage on the way to a first-place finish. The next effort netted him 27 kills and another 8k damage to cap it off. Booya’s STEN loadout: Muzzle: Recoil Booster – Barrel: Hockenson 174mm B11S – Optic: Slate Reflector – Stock: Gawain Folding 43S – Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip – Magazine: 9mm 50 Round Drums – Ammo Type: Hollow Point – Rear Grip: Pine Tar Grip – Proficiency: Gung Ho – Kit: Quick – This build really comes to life thanks to the combination of the 9mm 50 Round Drums and the Gawain Folding 43S working in harmony with the Recoil Booster and Carver Foregrip. Together they give the rapid-fire gun impeccable hip-fire accuracy and absolutely shred through teams who aren’t ready. It gets further boosted by the addition of Gung Ho and Quick, keeping the wielder light on their feet and able to abuse that accuracy even while sprinting full-speed around the map. While the STEN may not be thought of as one of Warzone’s top meta choices, it certainly brings a vicious punch to the narrow halls and alleyways of Rebirth when used correctly.

Warzone pro Biffle’s Armaguerra 43 could replace the Owen Gun in Season 3 meta – Dexerto
Warzone pro Biffle’s Armaguerra 43 could replace the Owen Gun in Season 3 meta ActivisionDiazBiffle is one of the best Warzone players in the world, so when he chimes in on weapons, it’s best to listen. After getting hands-on time with the Armaguerra 43, he believes it could knock off the Owen Gun in Season 3. The Warzone Season 3 meta is still taking shape but there have been some interesting competitors arising so far. Since the Owen Gun and MP40 were both targeted by nerfs in the Season 3 Classified Arms update, many players have been scrambling to find their replacement, and Biffle believes that he’s found the answer. Vanguard’s Armaguerra 43 was already a popular choice, but now that the deck has been reshuffled, it has a real shot at being the best. Biffle’s Armaguerra 43 loadout Revealed in a May 5 YouTube video, this gun is built around keeping recoil low without sacrificing too much damage. M1941 Hand Stop, Polymer Grip, Hardscope, and Recoil Booster will hold the gun’s natural bounce in check while the Botti 315mm CII barrel keeps it hitting quick and hard. To back that up, the Quick perk and the Imerito SA Folding stock combo gives you a chance to make snappy plays when the fights get up close and personal. Muzzle: Recoil Booster – Barrel: Botti 315mm CII – Optic: Slate Reflector – Stock: Imerito SA Folding – Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop – Magazine: 9mm 60 Round Mags – Ammo Type: Lengthened – Rear Grip: Polymer Grip – Perk: Hardscope – Perk 2: Quick – This build has all the hallmarks of a meta SMG. It kills fast, has very little recoil, and the 9mm 60 Round Mag keeps you alive even in extended fights. While there will definitely be other guns coming out of the proverbial woodwork over the next few weeks, anyone who wants to get an early leg up on the competition should pick this one up and test it out for themselves.

Warzone pro BBlade wins WSOW trios and Solo Yolo tournament in record $116k payday – Dexerto
Warzone pro BBlade wins WSOW trios and Solo Yolo tournament in record $116k payday Instagram: bbladewzItalian Warzone pro Nicolò ‘BBlade’ Maggi put in a dominant display during the European World Series of Warzone tournaments in the game’s biggest payday yet, picking up over $116,000 for winning both the Trios tournament and the $100k Solo Yolo. The second annual World Series of Warzone tournament didn’t fail to deliver in Europe, as some of Call of Duty’s biggest and best battle royale stars dropped into Caldera to win their share of the total $300k prize pool. While there were a number of big streamers dropping in such as Kacey ‘WarsZ’ Channer and Liam ‘Jukeyz’ James, there was one man who managed to dominate across the board and put both tournaments in his pocket. BBlade wasn’t looked at as the number one competitor going into the tournaments on September 6, but he was definitely seen as someone that could pull out some results, though not many could have predicted what went on to happen. First, he put in a solid display alongside his teammates Ronaldo ‘Wartex’ Lavado and Marco ‘savyultras90’ Filograsso in the trios tournament. It was tight, but they went into the final game with the lead and just held on, being crowned World Series of Warzone champions and taking home $50k as a team ($16,667 each). What followed though will go down in the Call of Duty history books, as BBlade managed to regain his composure heading into the $100k SoloYolo and win the whole thing. It was the biggest prize payout any Warzone player has earned in one day since the game dropped all the way back in March 2020, and can only be topped if a North American player manages to pull off the same feat in the NA World Series matches on September 7. While things are likely to change after the NA tournaments, this makes BBlade the highest-earning Warzone player in Caldera at the time of writing, overtaking Minnesota RØKKR’s Warzone star Almond, according to the Warzone Earnings website (earnings not yet updated on-site). Be sure to check out our full World Series of Warzone 2022 hub to keep track of teams taking part, watch the streams, and see the results at the end of the tournaments.

Warzone pro banned by Twitch & $50k tourney over body-shooting drama – Dexerto
Warzone pro banned by Twitch & $50k tourney over body-shooting drama ActivisionA Call of Duty: Warzone pro was banned mid-tournament by Twitch and the $50,000 Symfuhny Showdown after he shot another streamer’s body and his teammate read TOS-breaking hate raid comments out loud. With $50,000 on the line, ‘DenxH’ won a Gulag against SuperEvan in the Symfuhny Showdown. And, in a fit of passion, he shot the streamer’s body. Moments later, Evan’s chat raided DenxH’s team using language that breaks Twitch’s Terms of Service. His teammate, Jaay, read some of those comments out loud and that seemingly led to DenxH’s ban. So, because he shot a body in the Gulag, DenxH was near-immediately banned by Twitch, removed from the tournament, and replaced with TranceMB. Warzone and CoD tournaments can get dramatic, but this episode might take the cake. Warzone pro banned from tournament over body-shooting drama Oh boy. Warzone drama 😵💫@DenxH just got banned by Twitch and the $50k tourney, mid-tournament. He shot @SuperEvan__’s body in Gulag so fans hate raided his teammate Jaay, who read some TOS-breaking comments out loud, leading to DenxH’s bans pic.twitter.com/cVMNQfIkms — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) October 25, 2021 As you can see in the clip, DenxH killed Ev in the Gulag and shot his body. The streamer understandably took some offense, asking “why are you shooting my body?” His chat seemingly took more offense, proceeding to hop into the offending team’s chats and saying a number of insults. Among those was a homophobic slur, which DenxH’s teammate, Jaay, read out loud. Well, my twitch just got banned mid tournament, I can only imagine it was for a comment Jaay read out loud, a comment from his chat which lead from me shooting ‘Evans’ body in the Gulag, which lead to a mass spam reporting…. is there anyone that can help me get it back! . — DenxH (@DenxH) October 25, 2021 In the past, CoD tournaments have had drama specifically due to shooting bodies. In one case, a CoD Mobile team was disqualified mid-tourney when their player shot bodies after pulling off a 1v3 clutch. The behavior is typical trash talk in the franchise, so some have replied wondering why chat got upset in the first place. But, for people competing in tournaments and streaming on Twitch, there is a clear takeaway: Don’t read Twitch chat out loud. And for fans of streamers: no one likes hate raids.

Warzone pro Aydan turns underused CARV.2 into a mid-range monster – Dexerto
Warzone pro Aydan turns underused CARV.2 into a mid-range monster Activision / YouTube: AydanWarzone pro Aydan is looking to shift the meta with an unpopular weapon in the CARV.2 and he’s showing why his loadout makes it a mid-range monster. Aydan has been considered one of the best Warzone players since the game has come out. He ranks first all-time as the highest-earning player in the history of the battle royale. While he dominates with the best weapons in the meta, he continues to innovate in the game with lesser-known builds. While the AK-47 and OTs 9 continue to shine in Verdansk, Aydan shows off a CARV.2 class that is insanely strong in medium-range gunfights. Aydan’s best Warzone CARV.2 loadout As seen in the picture above, Aydan rocks some traditional attachments that are found on most assault rifles. Here are the exact things he uses on his loadout. Muzzle: Agency Silencer – Barrel: 18.9” Titanium – Optic: Axial Arms 3x – Underbarrel: Field Agent Foregrip – Magazine: 45 Rnd Drum – He rocks for the 18.9” Titanium to increase its fire rate. He pairs this up with the Agency Silencer because sacrifices some rate of fire to give better control over its recoil. These two attachments help balance each other out for insane damage. According to WZ Ranked, the CARV ranks in the bottom 10 of Cold War weapons that are used in Warzone. Even though the gun is underused Aydan claims that “medium-range this thing is nuts, it shreds two bursts, it is nuts.” In a YouTube video, Aydan shows off how strong this gun can be dropping 41 kills. He picked up nearly half of them with the CARV.2 and displayed how strong it can be. In the video, you can see Aydan use the mount feature quite often when rocking this gun. It helps to stabilize the recoil and allows you to two-burst enemies from range. He combines this with the fast rate of fire to down enemies quickly. Even though this is a very unpopular weapon, it could be something to give a try as it will likely be a weapon that will not be nerfed for quite some time.

Warzone pro Aydan somehow drops 45 using off-meta SA87 & Fennec loadout – Dexerto
Warzone pro Aydan somehow drops 45 using off-meta SA87 & Fennec loadout New York Subliners / ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players have been trying to figure out weapons that can fit into the meta following the Season 5 Reloaded update. Pro player Aydan was bored of using the same old guns and decided to try out two random guns, the SA87 and Fennec. He miraculously dropped 45 kills with this loadout. Aydan “Aydan” Conrad, has been one of the top Warzone players the game has ever seen. While the Season 5 Reloaded update changed a lot of weapons, the community has been wondering if different weapons would be coming into the meta. Thanks to a bored Aydan, he decided to try out some random classes and dropped a duo Quads game with the SA87 and Fennec, dropping 45 kills with these two weapons. Aydan’s off-meta SA87 & Fennec loadout As seen above in the picture, Aydan rocks the Cover of Night blueprint for the SA87. While this gun has barely been used in Warzone he shows what to use on this to make it viable. Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor – Barrel: SA87 25.4” Factory – Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic – Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip – Magazine: 60 Round Mags – Most players have not seen this weapon used, Aydan makes it look like a laser with these attachments. The SA87 25.4” Factory barrel paired up with the Commando Foregrip gives this gun a solid damage range as well as easier recoil control. The Fennec was seen not too long ago when an update that was pushed through made this gun a hitscan monster. Aydan shows off what he rocks on his Fennec in his 45 kill gameplay. Barrel: ZLR 18” Deadfall – Laser: 5mW Laser – Stock: No Stock – Magazine: 40 Round Drum Mags – Perk: Sleight of Hand – The oddest part of Aydan’s loadout is the Sleight of Hand perk that he chooses to use. From his gameplay you can see that the Fennec blows through its clip very quickly, causing him to reload a lot more. In his gameplay, he shows off the strengths of this loadout, medium-ranged fights. There is a lot more recoil on the SA87 than most ARs making it harder to beam people at afar. However, he’s able to down players and push in with the Fennec to clean up squads. Even though Aydan was not able to win this game, he still managed to get an insane amount of kills. He said he’s not sure these can become meta weapons but Aydan showed that there are other viable weapons available.

Warzone pro Aydan shows off AK-47 “SMG” loadout that’s perfect for Iron Trials – Dexerto
Warzone pro Aydan shows off AK-47 “SMG” loadout that’s perfect for Iron Trials Twitter, @aydan / ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone’s Iron Trials mode is getting a ton of love, but, since it plays differently than normal modes — you need new loadouts. Fortunately, Aydan’s shown off an AK-47 SMG class that’s absolutely devastating. While the Modern Warfare AK-47 never got much love in Verdansk, the Black Ops Cold War AK has always popped in and out of the meta. Back in April, Diaz Biffle went on an absolute tournament tear running a close-range, high-mobility version of the assault rifle and then, more recently, ZLaner turned it into a proper AMAX-style AR. But, while the gun’s SMG-style classes have taken a backseat, Aydan has shown that it’s a deadly secondary option for Iron Trials. In the mode, which grants players extra health, having the AK’s high damage seems perfect. Aydan’s Iron Trials Warzone AK-47 loadout The class is most certainly an interesting one, as Aydan fully buys in on the AK’s damage and sacrifices both muzzle and barrel for his close-range build. Still, to balance things out, he opts for an optic so that the gun feels a little better at range as well. CW AK-47 Warzone loadout: Season 5 Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight – Optic: Microflex LED – Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock – Ammunition: 45 Rnd – Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap – Since the gun isn’t being used for long-range fights really, it shouldn’t be impacted by the September 23 nerfs that the AK was hit with. And, as you can tell from his gameplay, it most certainly shreds up close. Players know that Iron Trials means more health, so the extra damage from the AK is even more helpful than in standard modes — where other SMG options can shine. Additionally, the extra range gives it more versatility than the shotguns. So, if you want to get into a proper roll in the limited-time mode, consider this AK build. You might not be able to drop a world-record 34 kills, but you’ll at least impress some friends with a unique class.

Warzone pro Aydan reveals his biggest problems with Black Ops Cold War – Dexerto
Warzone pro Aydan reveals his biggest problems with Black Ops Cold War Activision/AydanNow that the Black Ops Cold War Beta is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, more and more people are starting to give their opinion on the game so far. Warzone player and streamer Aydan has also chimed in his opinions on it, and needless to say, it’s not all positive. [jwplayer S757WrdH] With the second weekend of the Black Ops Cold War Beta starting on October 15, 2020, almost everyone who wants to play the game has the ability to do so. While it’s technically not open to all Xbox and PC players quite yet, tons of people have jumped in, played a number of different matches and provided feedback – which makes sense, given it’s a pre-release version. Even since the first weekend, more competitive players like Shroud, Aches, Scump, Drift0r, and others have talked about what they like and dislike about the game and so far, it seems like a fairly mixed bag. Now, another player has joined the fray. How does everyone feel about the Cold War Beta so far? I think the movement is fun but I wish there was a dif movement system than slide canceling since MW had it. Dropshotting is horrible, if you’re laying down and stand up, it takes forever to shoot. Graphics are trash. 6/10 — Aydan (@aydan) October 16, 2020 Warzone Twitch streamer and YouTuber Aydan took to Twitter to offer feedback about the Black Ops Cold War Beta, and there are a couple of things he would like to see addressed. According to him, while the movement in the game is fun overall, he wishes there were a different system in place other than sliding due to the fact that last year’s entry, the highly-debated Modern Warfare (2019), had the same feature. I also like the perks, gun balancing seems good. Wildcard system is lit. Killstreaks are simple, I like it. Overall, the game is fun but it just doesn’t have that GRIND factor to me. I think on release with Zombies, League play, and final changes it’ll be a 7 or 8 for me. — Aydan (@aydan) October 16, 2020 In addition, he also complained about dropshotting being ineffective in the game, claiming that laying down and standing up is way too slow. “I don’t necessarily want dropshotting to be effective in all gunfights, but laying down in general is way to slow,” Aydan said in a reply to another user. I don’t necessarily want dropshotting to be effective in all gunfights, but laying down in general is way to slow. It feels like just laying down or getting up from laying down would put you at the biggest disadvantage. — Aydan (@aydan) October 16, 2020 It’s not all bad for Aydan, however; In a reply to his original tweet, he said that the gun balancing, wildcard system, and killstreaks in the beta are all fun, but that overall he would give it a 6/10 if he had to rate it now and 7 or 8/10 once the full thing releases. Treyarch is constantly fine-tuning the game, so it wouldn’t be surprising if the developer makes similar changes before the final version. That being said, it remains to be seen just how much it changes.

Warzone pro Aydan proves he’s more than just a streamer with insane League Play clutch – Dexerto
Warzone pro Aydan proves he’s more than just a streamer with insane League Play clutch New York Subliners/ActivisionAydan has been considered a top competitor in both Fortnite and Warzone, two of the biggest battle royale titles in the history of the genre. But does he have a future in the Call of Duty League too? Something you’ll learn about most high-level gamers is that they can translate their skills to pretty much any game. The same is obviously true for Aydan, who represents the New York Subliners in Verdansk, and decided to drop into the regular multiplayer of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War to test out his skills. While he’s not commonly known for his prowess in CDL modes like Hardpoint and Search and Destroy, Aydan jumped into some games and proved he’s absolutely no slouch. After several poor rounds, going 2-6 and 2-5 down on Standoff Search and Destroy, one of Aydan’s opponents started trash-talking him — and then he flipped the switch. Aydan won four straight rounds, with a 6-5 map win and a 12-6 finish, earning himself ten straight eliminations without dying. Of course, he couldn’t let his trash-talking opponent get away with their slander, letting them know in the game chat after. “Sit the f**k down,” he shouted after finishing 3 in the final round alone. “Suck my d**k” he exclaimed, clearly gassed about his emphatic comeback. Not just a Warzone pro @aydan 🥶 (Via @Misssweets8)pic.twitter.com/MHAP8Uuedq — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) September 1, 2021 Of course, this wasn’t exactly an intense game 5 matchup against CDL champions Atlanta FaZe, but it was no doubt a top performance from Aydan who clearly has a magic touch when it comes to Call of Duty. It’s definitely got fans begging the question though… What if Aydan wanted to take competitive Call of Duty seriously? We don’t see him replacing anyone on the New York Subliners roster any time soon, but there’s clearly some inate competitive talent there that could be nurtured.

Warzone pro Aydan discovers bugged wall that’s a death trap for stairwell campers – Dexerto
Warzone pro Aydan discovers bugged wall that’s a death trap for stairwell campers Andbox / ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone pros Aydan and Jukeyz ran into each other in a tournament and, in doing so, discovered a sneaky glitch. While initially confused, the deathly encounter shows why bugged walls can turn stairwell campers into victims. During a private lobby tournament, professional Warzone players typically stop flying around like they would in a public lobby filled with “guppies.” So, it should be no surprise that, despite being one of the game’s best players, Jukeyz hunkered down once he sensed a dangerous presence coming his way. Unfortunately for “Liverpool Li,” that dangerous presence was Aydan — whose game sense befits his highest-earning Warzone pedigree. While Jukeyz tried to camp the stairs in ambush, a wall bug fully exposed him. In the moment, Jukeyz was perplexed once he got gunned through the wall. And, after seeing the kill cam, he took to Twitter to joke about Aydan’s hacks, before asking about the annoying bug. NEW CLIP JUST SURFACED OF @AYDAN CHEATING *(sike who the FUCK plastered these walls my fucking toes are sticking in Aydan mouth) pic.twitter.com/nJ8FtL4ykI — Li (@Jukeyz) September 3, 2021 As you can see in the clip, Jukeyz goes fully prone while waiting in the stairwell and, moments later, is beamed from outside of the wall. Normally, that would scream the presence of a hacker, but the kill cam shows why no cheats were needed. As you can see from Aydan’s POV, which we’ve included in higher quality below, certain walls can be bugged in Warzone so that a camper’s feet can be seen from outside. (Or, as Jukeyz puts it, his “f**king toes are sticking in Aydan’s mouth.) From Aydan’s POV, what’s happening is even more obvious. He approaches a suspicious building, looks around, and notices some little shoes sticking out — right by the stairwell. He shoots, he scores, and gets up there to drop a heart emote on Jukeyz before finishing him off. There are a lot of buildings in Warzone that are structured similarly to this one, meaning this could have a wider impact. If you’re a stairwell camper, maybe consider not going prone. And, if you’re a camper hunter, maybe consider checking the wall for any toes before entering.

Warzone pro Aydan cleared of hack accusations by “$900 headset” defense – Dexerto
Warzone pro Aydan cleared of hack accusations by “$900 headset” defense Twitter, @aydan / ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone pro Aydan was the subject of hack accusations after a play even he said looked mighty suspicious. But after fans noticed he was using a “$900 headset,” people seem convinced he wasn’t actually cheating. Aydan is among Warzone’s best players and highest earners for a reason. The former Fortnite pro has gun skill, movement, and game sense for days. But sometimes he can look unnaturally skilled and that understandably results in concern. During a 2v2 Gunfight with fellow Warzone pros and Call of Duty League star Shotzzy, Aydan pulled a play off that immediately caught a spectator’s eye. Blazt, a former CDL pro himself, was watching the game and jokingly claimed he was about to expose Aydan for cheating. Once everyone saw the clip, it was obvious why it looked so suspicious. Not only does Aydan perfectly read the first kill but he then centers on the second opponent through a wall. Aydan accused of hacking after 2v2 Gunfight clip Did @Blazt catch @Aydan red-handed? 😳 Need a link to his headset asap pic.twitter.com/NZ19m7adYy — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) November 2, 2021 In the clip, Aydan jumps to challenge a prone Shotzzy near the point and then, while capping, his crosshair seems to sit exactly where Stukawaki is. You can see all outlines thanks to Blazt spectating, making things look even more unnatural. Watching it back, all players involved laughed — but even Aydan said “that looks so bad” and Shotzzy reacted with confusion: “That s**t looks insane, what the f**k?” To explain, Aydan’s teammate IceManIsaac rightfully pointed out that they had already cleared half of the map so there weren’t many other spots to be wary of. And Aydan added that he heard Shotzzy, which surprised everyone. Aydan cleared of hack accusations thanks to superior headset In the replies, many pointed to Aydan’s headset to explain how he was able to hear what no one else could. Multiple people referenced a $900 pricetag for the headphones he’s believed to be using: the LCD-GX. One person put out a poll asking if Aydan was cheating or simply “built different,” which resulted in a large majority — 69.2% — believing it was all fair play. This is likely a testament to the belief in his headset, his experience running Gunfights, and the lack of concern from those he played against. Overall, it’s a classic example of why suspicious-seeming clips need context. If you watch the whole VOD (timestamp around 11:57:30), you can see that Aydan was caught by surprise on maps he wasn’t familiar with and did routinely hear things that others struggled to.

Warzone pro Aydan calls LA Thieves CDL skin “OP” in throwback Roze comparison – Dexerto
Warzone pro Aydan calls LA Thieves CDL skin “OP” in throwback Roze comparison AydanWarzone 2 has introduced a number of new CDL skins for its Operators, but one could end up being a perfect replacement for the infamous Roze skin. Roze has been a popular Operator choice in Warzone since her Rook skin was released back in the game’s Season 5 update. The cosmetic famously dominated both the casual and competitive scene until Activision eventually nerfed it. This was largely down to the jet-black color of her outfit and mask, which helped players hide in darkened areas of Verdansk. In fact, the skin was so hard to spot that those using the Roze Rook skin could go unnoticed, even when hiding in plain sight. Not only did this lead to some incredibly frustrating deaths, but it also highlighted just how bad the overall visibility was in Warzone. Fortunately, the nerf has greatly decreased Roze’s effectiveness, but now Aydan believes the LA Thieves CDL skin could be an OP replacement in Warzone 2. Aydan call out OP Warzone 2 LA Thieves CDL skin “Oh hell no, this is OP,” said Aydan. “Wait, this is OP, it’s like all black. That’s f*cking unfair, dude that is a cheat code.” The Call of Duty pro then states how the LA Thieves skin has such a huge advantage over the other team colors. Aydan notes that all the other skins have very visible and distinct colors that make them stand out, but the LA Thieves one only has the team’s red logo on its arms and chest. The rest of the skin is completely black. “You’re not going to f*cking see this one,” explained Aydan. “Holy sh*t, Thieves literally got a Roze skin, bro, god damn.” Of course, time will soon tell whether this particular cosmetic will become as notorious as the Roze Rook skin, but for now, it’s clear Aydan has his concerns.

Warzone pro Almond’s absurd killing spree proves Stims are the best Tactical – Dexerto
Warzone pro Almond’s absurd killing spree proves Stims are the best Tactical Minnesota ROKKR / ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone’s Stim Shots got buffed in Pacific and, during a relentless killing spree, Almond demonstrated precisely why they’re the best Tactical Equipment on Caldera. You don’t become one of Warzone’s highest earners and top-ranked players without having some tricks up your sleeve. The mechanics and game sense help, but taking advantage of meta loadouts and equipment can set you apart. That was made evident by Almond, who pulled off an obnoxious six-man killing spree as the last man alive in a game of Quads. The streamer, fresh off a tournament win at the Baka WonderLAN, decimated a lobby by making full use of Stims. Stims got buffed for Season 1 of Pacific and now provide a speed boost on top of their health regeneration. As Almond showed during his 40-kill game, that buff can offer incredible potential for high-IQ plays. Warzone pro Almond uses Stims for nasty kill spree This @Almxnd_ sequence is ridiculous 😵💫pic.twitter.com/B57pfQv1BJ — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) December 21, 2021 As you can see in the clip, Almond starts off with his back against the ropes. He’s the lone man alive from his Quad, down on the low ground near the gas with 12 enemy players still up. His first kill was simple enough, but then he hits a quick Munitions Box to recoup some equipment and proceeds to go on a rampage. Using a gas mask, Almond was able to push the roof through the gas, down two enemies in perfect position, and finish them off with a Precision Airstrike. With the gas mask depleted, he then popped two Stims to relocate and secure another kill. Then, Almond used yet another Stim to push through the gas and get in position for another down – which he finished off with a dirty Throwing Knife toss. Another Stim later, he secured one more kill before ultimately falling to the final player. While the pro was unable to secure the win and final two kills, the play is nonetheless intriguing. For players who want to take advantage of mobility for positioning and leverage during fights, it’s obvious that Stims are a big-brain loadout choice.

Warzone pro accused of hacking after turning into a “bot” with anti-cheat enabled – Dexerto
Warzone pro accused of hacking after turning into a “bot” with anti-cheat enabled ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone pro Shifty is being accused of hacking, once again. After getting the streamer to use a new anti-cheat, the community is convinced that his recent performance is evidence of previous cheating. Up-and-coming Warzone pro Shifty has been accused of hacking multiple times, most recently during a $100,000 tournament in early-March. While the community was divided then, the allegations have now resurfaced and hit a boiling point. After someone posted a new series of VOD reviews examining Shifty’s gameplay, he was asked to download FACEIT anti-cheat and play games to prove his innocence. With no faith in CoD’s RICOCHET system, this new anti-cheat was expected to be a better test of legitimacy. Once installed, Shifty’s play struggled to match his earlier run of form. His K/D dropped significantly, as did the frequency of highlight plays. That convinced the community that he was cheating in the earlier clips posted by CoD editor ‘Jutedd.’ Warzone pro Shifty accused of hacking with series of suspicious clips I’ve had to sit on this video for a while as I wait for confirmation to post it; but here’s the best proof that @ShiftyTV_ is cheating. These are all clips that I’ve found in a SINGLE 10 hour VOD. (With a few exceptions) (1/3) pic.twitter.com/ASI4KNQa26 — JudgeJutey (@Jutedd1) March 20, 2022 Originally, Shifty’s accusations were brought back to light by Jutedd – who shared a series of three videos, totaling over five minutes of sketchy gameplay. In order to defend himself, the streamer agreed to play matches while having FACEIT’s anti-cheat installed (which is considered the premier system by Counter-Strike players). Once he started playing with FACEIT, his level of play dramatically decreased. Former CDL pro Rasim ‘Blazt’ Ogresevic noted that Shifty’s K/D dropped from world-leading to a 1.59, while ScummN proceeded to post a video clowning the change in gameplay. Warzone pro clowned for “bot” gameplay with anti-cheat downloaded ScummN’s video shared a number of clips showing Shifty struggling in situations he would have usually dominated. This also included confusion, as the streamer was temporarily convinced that FACEIT had disabled his aim assist. However, the change in gameplay was enough for a number of players to be convinced that Shifty was cheating earlier. Former defenders like fellow streamer ‘Wagnificent’ reacted by noting that “after watching this wager vs scum with the anti cheat on his pc, it’s obvious he isn’t the same player.” Read more: How to get Snoop Dogg bundle in Vanguard, Warzone & CoD Mobile: Release date, price, more – Others have roasted the change in form, calling him a “bot” after previously looking like the “best player in the world.” In response to these new, heightened accusations, Shifty has blamed the “pressure” for his change in performance. He is also promising to play with FACEIT enabled every day and for an opportunity to play at a neutral, LAN environment to prove his legitimacy.

Warzone pro accused of cheating in $110k Vanguard tourney with “fake video” – Dexerto
Warzone pro accused of cheating in $110k Vanguard tourney with “fake video” ActivisionWarzone pro ‘Flxnked’ was accused of cheating in a $110k Vanguard Search and Destroy tourney after a fake video was submitted to admins. The $110k Black Friday Vanguard event was one of the most highly anticipated showdowns so far, as it was the most money the game has seen for a preseason tournament. While the action was unfolding, Warzone pro Flxnked, part of Team Huke, was accused of cheating and a video was sent to the admins as proof. This is where things got really sticky, as Flxnked had to cross every bridge in an attempt to clear his name after this clip started to gain traction. https://twitter.com/Rckzys/status/1464412678642802691 Warzone pro clears name after cheating accusations In the midst of the biggest Vanguard tournament thus far, a player submitted a video from Flxnked’s stream that showed red boxes outlining enemies on his monitor camera. Flxnked was accused last night with this image, someone photoshopped white line/cheats onto his webcam monitor I can CONFIRM, eFuse and admins reviewed this and found no evidence of cheating and it was faked. pic.twitter.com/iYDK51KO6n — Jake Lucky (@JakeSucky) November 27, 2021 However, Flxnked did not take this lightly and went live on Twitter in a series of clips trying to prove that he, in fact, was playing the game fair. After some deliberation from tourney admins, they made the ruling that the clip was edited and the red boxes were “photoshopped” onto his scream to make it appear that he cheated. Unfollowed someone start of vg and mans edited a clip of a red box LMAOOOO my bad gangster — Luke (@Flxnked) November 27, 2021 Flxnked claimed that this happened because he unfollowed someone on Twitter and they retaliated by attempting to get him banned from the biggest tourney so far. Many people in the community were confused as to why someone would do this, and even the 3-time World Champion, Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow said, “That video is so dumb and I think you guys are nuts for calling cheats on that guy.” In the end, it was proved that the clip was edited and 100% fake. Flxnked went on to finish Top 4 with Huke after falling to Team Kenny 2-3.

Warzone pro absolutely flames “dogs**t” hacker after out-slaying him – Dexerto
Warzone pro absolutely flames “dogs**t” hacker after out-slaying him FOX / ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone pro and streamer DougIsRaw was randomly stuck with a hacker on his team while queuing into random lobbies. So Doug proceeded to drop more kills than the cheater and absolutely roast him for it. Queuing into Warzone as a solo with random teammates can be quite the gamble. Sometimes you end up with bad players, sometimes you end up with toxic kids, and — every once in a while — you might end up with a hacker. This latter happened to DougIsRaw, who was streaming random fills when a teammate’s performance caught his eye. Late in the game, after going rogue and slaying out by himself, Doug realized his teammate was keeping pace with 20-plus kills. He asked his Twitch chat to check the teammate’s CoD stats when Doug realized he was playing alongside a hacker. And the rest is history, as he proceeded to demolish the lobby, out-frag the cheater, and then get into game chat to absolutely flame them for hacking. Warzone streamer DougIsRaw out-slays hacker Doug out-slaying and then roasting a random-fill hacker is absolute gold 😭pic.twitter.com/tgw7JOzAX5 — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) November 3, 2021 Doug tweeted about the game afterward, saying that he ‘unknowingly dropped more kills than a cheater.’ And, in the attached video, you can see when Doug starts wondering about how legit his teammate really is, asking “who the f**k is this guy?” Once chat lets him know that the guy has a 7 K/D, he becomes convinced the guy is hacking and confronts him about it after the game. Somehow dropping four more kills than the cheater, Doug lets him have it: “How does it make you feel that I don’t cheat and you do, and you couldn’t keep up with me? … GGs bud, you’ll always be dogs**t.” If you watch the entire video, you can see that Doug was on a mission and unaware of his teammate’s progress. Eventually, after realizing he was with a hacker, he kept the kills up and decided to shame the guy. Everyone hopes that hackers are removed from Warzone for good when the RICOCHET Anti-Cheat drops in early December. But, until then, we can simply enjoy Doug’s humiliating message to this hacker: “My teammate’s cheating his f**king c**k off and he can’t keep up with me? Holy s**t he’s terrible.”

Warzone Precision Airstrike trick is perfect for taking out tower campers – Dexerto
Warzone Precision Airstrike trick is perfect for taking out tower campers ActivisionIf you still find yourself struggling to take out those pesky Airport Tower campers in Warzone, this Precision Airstrike trick will make your life much easier. The tower at Airport is a haven for players that don’t quite have the ability to take on the game properly. We’ve all seen them, sitting up top in the control room with a sniper and their Most Wanted contract, not willing to take on a fair gunfight on the ground. Technically, the only way up is the inside zipline, though you can fly a helicopter at it too and hope for the best, but both of these methods leave you exposed, and the tower camper will usually be prepared for it. This trick, though, is bound to change how you approach it, and gives you the best chance of wiping them out. For the most part, attempting to use airstrikes on tower campers is futile, as the roof keeps them so well protected — but not if you judge it right. Read More: When will Warzone solos return? – As you can see in the clip below from Rxelik_, there’s actually a real method that can make your precision airstrike much more likely to hit the enemies occupying the tower. Rather than aiming it at the control room like most of us usually would, if you aim lower down the tower, the trajectory of the missiles actually falls straight into the room and, hopefully can take out at least one or two of the players in it. The best part about this is tower campers usually assume they’re safe when they see the warning screen of an incoming airstrike. Due to the roof above them, most tower campers won’t rush into hiding when it comes up, and will be left baffled when it ends up actually hitting them. If this works out well, you could have a teammate hold the bottom floor, ready to zip up to clean up any kills or prevent any possible revives, though this could still be quite risky if a player or two are watching the zipline still. Either way, this trick makes it much more likely to take out tower campers, so bear it in mind next time you need to pull someone out of there — just aim a little lower!

Warzone players worried Black Ops 6 aim assist is “more of the same” already – Dexerto
Warzone players worried Black Ops 6 aim assist is “more of the same” already ActivisionWarzone players are already concerned about aim assist in Black Ops 6, as some fans believe it’ll be “more of the same” in the battle royale. The debate over aim assist has really raged in the last few years, especially as games go cross-platform between PC and consoles. Many PC players have likened the assist to a “soft aim bot” and have even started using controllers instead of mouse and keyboard. It is a particularly divisive feature in Warzone too. KB/M users have continually complained about beamed by controller players using no recoil rifles, urging the devs to turn things down so they’re on a competitive footing. Well, now that COD NEXT is in the rear-view mirror, we know what Black Ops 6 is bringing to Warzone. We’ve got a new Resurgence map – Area 99 – and the return of Verdansk. However, amid that excitement, fans are worried about aim assist. A number of clips of content creators playing Black Ops 6’s Warzone update have done the rounds on social media. Yet, one from Adriann caught the eye after he beamed a player heading up a redeploy tower. “Looks like it’s gonna be more of the same,” one player said. “Why even add Omni-directional movement if the game is going to do most of the aiming for you?” Another added: “Can’t believe they didn’t f**king address this s*it. Might actually give up on mkb frfr or just stop playing.” Another player went as far as calling it a “legal aim bot” too. Others chimed in, saying it was “predictable” that aim assist wouldn’t go under the knife in BOPS 6. “Sorry, but anyone who buys this game to play it on MNK is either a flaming idiot, or a masochist,” they added. It remains to be seen if CoD follows in the footsteps of Apex Legends and publicly tone down aim assist. That would win some fans back over.

Warzone players worried battle royale is “ruined” until MW3 – Dexerto
Warzone players worried battle royale is “ruined” until MW3 ActivisionWarzone players have claimed that the battle royale is “ruined” until Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 releases, and it’s all thanks to the Lockwood 300 and Doom Super Shotgun. Across both Warzone and Warzone 2, fans of the Call of Duty battle royale have had to deal with their fair share of overpowered weapons. No one is forgetting the DMR or Mac-10 metas from Verdansk in a hurry. These broken weapons typically pop up at the start of a new season whenever the devs roll out some buffs and nerfs. They could happen due to a bug with an attachment or because the weapon had been buffed just a tad too much. It’s happened again in Season 6 with the Lockwood 300 shotgun. While the close-range monster has been banned from Ranked play, it’s still running wild in casual games, much to the annoyance of many players. Warzone players quitting over Lockwood 300 shotgun until Modern Warfare 3 The shotgun – which the Doom bundle version of has been labeled as “pay to win” – has now prompted many players to turn their back on the battle royale and do something else. Well, at least until MW3 releases. “Solos is ruined,” said one Redditor, who also showed off a clip of them being gunned down by the shotgun at a range typically reserved for other weapon types. “December can’t come soon enough,” agreed another player. “I refuse to play WZ until that s*it is nerfed or removed,” another added. Another player urged Warzone fans to “play a different game” until Modern Warfare 3 releases in the hopes that collective action would prompt change. Some players have claimed that it might just be a wasted effort, seeing as the shotgun will be around in Modern Warfare 3, and even if it’s nerfed, something else will likely take its place. It remains to be seen if the devs will make a change before then. However, its clear that players want something to change.

Warzone players worried as “invincibility” issues resurface in Season 4 – Dexerto
Warzone players worried as “invincibility” issues resurface in Season 4 ActivisionWarzone players are expressing their concern after new problems with “invincibility” surfaced in Season 4, with many calling for Raven to address them in an upcoming patch. Warzone’s issues with cheating and bugs have been well documented. The introduction of RICOCHET anti-cheat was borne purely of struggles to curtail hackers in the BR’s first couple of years, while the devs themselves have recently admitted that the amount of content in one place makes isolating problems incredibly difficult. One particularly obnoxious issue in past seasons has related to players becoming “invincible” – impossible to hit and therefore impossible to kill. While the problems in the past have come from both exploits and bugs, they appear to have resurfaced in Season 4, leaving players less than impressed with Raven and Activision. Warzone “invincibility” issues back in Season 4 In a July 16 clip, streamer TrickyRick was almost lost for words upon encountering an enemy who simply wouldn’t die. Despite multiple accurate shots being sent their way and one of the game’s many ‘executions’ being employed, the enemy simply shrugged off Rick’s efforts and eliminated him, taking the victory in the most bizarre and unfair of circumstances. Rick’s tweet showcased the clip and was aptly captioned: “I AM GOING TO LOSE IT!!!!!” It’s not entirely clear what caused the issue, with some speculating it is a glitch and others suggesting that the opponent was cheating, in spite of RICOCHET’s continued efforts. Whatever the cause, fans were not impressed that such prominent issues are still ruining Warzone matches over two years after its release. One player said: “This is actually really sad and depressing, I’d lose my sh*t if this happened to me, even with the finishing move couldn’t kill him.” Another criticized Raven and Activision: “The amount of glitches and issues that this game has had since release on every patch and version is just unacceptable given its status. This becoming the norm is also unacceptable.” Many also pointed to the launch of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, with both expected later in the year. Here’s hoping they drop without major problems and have a handle on the cheating situation from the beginning.

Warzone players worried about new shotgun in Season 4 Reloaded: “We are doomed” – Dexerto
Warzone players worried about new shotgun in Season 4 Reloaded: “We are doomed” ActivisionSeason 4 Reloaded hasn’t even launched yet in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone, but players are already worried about the new MX Guardian shotgun coming to the game, as Activision claimed that it will “usurp” the broken KV Broadside to become the best shotgun in the game. The KV Broadside was added to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 earlier in 2023 and almost immediately took over the meta, dominating opponents from close to mid-range and being extremely hard to counter if an opponent got the drop on you. Players called for the gun to be nerfed, and it finally was, but with Season 4 Reloaded on the horizon, players may have another serious problem on their hands. MX Guardian most OP shotgun in Warzone? The new MX Guardian shotgun is due to arrive with S4 Reloaded on Wednesday, July 12, and developers Raven Software have already made players worried with what they’ve said about it. “While the KV Broadside reigned supreme in close to mid-range engagements for a time, the MX Guardian has arrived to usurp the close-range crown,” the Season 4 Reloaded blog post said. “Equip the MX Guardian in your favorite close-quarters Loadout in Multiplayer or slot it in as an Overkill Secondary Weapon for room clearing in Warzone to maximize success.” This rung alarm bells for players who were still struggling with the PTSD associated with the Broadside, especially due to the plan for the MX Guardian to “usurp” the gun. “We are doomed,” said one player on Reddit, to which many others came out in agreement. “An automatic shotgun that’s good up to mid-range and is stronger than the KV,” one comment said. “I’m scared.” Another was a little more concerned by the decision to add this shotgun in. They said: “One has to wonder in what universe they would consider a fully auto shotgun reigning supreme in engagements up to mid-range being an acceptable thing. Then to think it makes sense to add a BETTER shotgun than that into the game?” Of course, with the gun not yet in the game, the MX Guardian may not be as broken as some players expect it to be, so it could be a non-issue. However, if their concerns are proven correct, there’s no doubt they will be calling for nerfs before long.

Warzone players want Verdansk return but with Caldera changes – Dexerto
Warzone players want Verdansk return but with Caldera changes ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players are still hopeful that Raven Software will bring back Verdansk at some point, and if they do, those fans want some of Caldera’s newest features to make the jump. When Warzone first launched, players only had the one map to play – Verdansk. Despite plenty of rumors about a second map joining the rotation, Verdansk was the battle royale’s only playground of destruction for quite some time. Naturally, players wanted a change before long, and those calls were answered in the form of Rebirth Island. Though, Raven Software took the original map away completely when the integration between Warzone and Call of Duty: Vanguard happened. With Caldera not quite living up to expectations, players have yearned to make a return to Verdansk. The devs have stated they want to put the two maps on a rotation, but it isn’t possible just yet. Though, if it happens, fans have got some ideas. Redditor Semper_Crayons dropped a simple question for their fellow Warzone fans, would they trade Caldera, the current playlists, and Rebirth Island to bring back Verdansk. The overwhelming response was that of support for bringing back Verdansk. “I absolutely love Rebirth, the new update is amazing. I would give it up in a heartbeat for Verdansk with a working anti-cheat,” replied Tylus0. “Verdansk 100%. The pace, the feel, the map design, everything about it was amazing,” added lostpasts. While many want the original Verdansk layout back, some suggested that Caldera’s redeploy balloons should also make the jump, as well as the new health increase. “If we’re talking Verdansk without any of the Cold War or Vanguard integration then I’d take it instantly,” added another. As noted, the devs have stated that they’d ideally have Verdansk and Caldera on rotation, which would likely rule out any possibility of the original map not having the new weapons and items. Even though Verdansk was ‘nuked’ at the end of its integration, there is plenty of appetite for its return. So, maybe one day.

Warzone players want CoD to copy Fortnite OG with Verdansk return – Dexerto
Warzone players want CoD to copy Fortnite OG with Verdansk return ActivisionWith Fortnite experiencing tremendous success due to the return of the game’s original map, Call of Duty players are now hoping that they can get their own “OG” feels with the return of Verdansk. Fortnite just experienced the “biggest day” in the game’s history as more than 44.7 million players logged in and recorded 102 million hours of gameplay in a single day. The reason for the exceptional feat is none other than the return of Fortnite OG – bringing back the original island map, as well as many of the game’s original items, features, and more. Call of Duty fans on the other side of the fence are looking over and witnessing the game’s incredible revival. And now, they’re calling for a resurgence of their own by requesting the return of the game’s original Warzone map, Verdansk. A popular tweet by Charlie Intel has sparked discussion regarding how “Call of Duty needs to bring Verdsansk back.” In the comments, many players are quick to agree with the sentiment, with one player writing, “That would make far too much sense for them to do though.” Others, on a similar note, shared, “They have to bring it back” and “that the “servers couldn’t handle” the return of many players. But some Call of Duty fans believe it’s “way too soon,” however. “Fortnite has way more maps, and has been out a few years longer. It doesn’t even feel like it was that long ago since I played that map tbh, I don’t think they should just yet tbh,” one player wrote. Verdansk, the original battleground that launched with Warzone in 2020, has been absent from the game in Warzone 2. But that hasn’t stopped some cheeky players from finding a way to access the game’s popular map. Fans who don’t want to wait around for the map to return to Warzone can instead battle it out in many of Verdansk’s most iconic locations in this year’s Modern Warfare III (2023) campaign. Verdansk Prison, Arklov Military Base, Verdansk Stadium, and Gora Dam all feature in the Modern Warfare III campaign and hold a special place in the hearts of many Warzone players, much like many of the locations in Fortnite’s OG map. But one thing’s for sure. Fortnite’s success with the OG revival won’t go unnoticed.

Warzone players want “useless” MW2 weapons removed completely – Dexerto
Warzone players want “useless” MW2 weapons removed completely ActivisionWarzone players have urged the devs to remove the guns from Modern Warfare 2 from the battle royale’s loot pool, claiming they’re “pointless” without changes. Over the last few years, Warzone has become an amalgamation of a few different games as weapons, pieces of equipment, perks, and a whole bunch of other features started mixing together under one umbrella. While Modern Warfare 3 has been somewhat of a fresh start, it does incorporate parts of Modern Warfare 2 as well. The weapons from the previous game are still in the loot pool, and while some do stack up against their MW3 counterpart, there are plenty of gripes. Players have complained about the MW2 weapons not hitting as hard in the new Warzone update because of the health changes. As a result, some of them want the guns to be flat out removed. MW3 players want MW2 weapons removed from Warzone That’s right, players have called for the removal of some of the more “pointless” MW2 weapons in Warzone – at least until the devs get things straightened out and decide what they’re doing with them. “Why are they still even in the loot pool?? They’re dog crap compared to MW3 Guns. They have the highest TKK time. Terrible visual recoil and their mobility is trash. All the MW2 Guns compared to MW3s are outclassed by a mile,” said one fan, saying they needed to be completely removed. “I agree, I don’t see the point of adding the MW2 guns to MW3 if they’re not going to be updated just seems pointless…,” another agreed. “this was my first complaint with the new game lol,” another said. Some disagreed, noting they’re still running weapons like the M4, Tempus Razorback, and Lachmann Shroud. “Not that easy, many will complain because they bought skins for those guns,” another argued. It’s unlikely that the calls for their removal would ever be heard, mainly because of the variety they offer, but it appears something will have to change.

Warzone players want “useless” attachments buffed again – Dexerto
Warzone players want “useless” attachments buffed again ActivisionWarzone players are hoping that some of the most popular attachments in the battle royale’s history receive some buffs in the near future as they’ve become “useless” in Modern Warfare 3. It’s been over four years since Warzone was first launched, and Call of Duty fans love to look back fondly at what they’ve had in the past. Players have reminisced over Verdansk and Rebirth Island, and both maps are set to make a comeback in the future. Obviously, given that there have been a few new CoD games since the battle royale was first released, things can’t exactly go back to the way they were at the start. No matter how much wishing players do. However, small tweaks can be made to revive that original feeling, and that’s what players want when it comes to Thermal Sights – especially as a counter to how popular smoke grenades have become. Warzone players want Thermal Optics buffed again It was something Redditor DefunctHunk flagged, noting that smoke grenades have become way more popular in Warzone these days than they were in Verdansk. “It’s interesting to see that smoke grenades are the meta tactical now and are insanely useful for positioning and for escaping when you get caught out. But 99.9% of the playerbase never used them in WZ1,” they said. “Also, I’m surprised thermal optics aren’t more commonly used given the prevalence of smoke grenades, especially late game.” Others quickly chimed in, wanting Thermals to be a better option. “I’m sure it’ll eventually pick up. But there are such better sights that help with visible recoil it’s tough to get away from them,” one said. “For me it seems that the thermal scopes got a hell of a nerf, lots of lower-end, lower magnification thermals can’t see through the smoke, which makes them just as useless as a regular scope,” another added. Some players noted that interest in Thermals has also waned because of how prevalent they were in Warzone originally. You could hardly pick up a ground loot weapon that didn’t have a Thermal on. The Warzone devs have only just released the Season 2 Reloaded round of weapon changes, so it’s unlikely they’ll update sights just yet. However, it could be something for them to consider before long.

Warzone players want UAVs removed from Buy Stations again – Dexerto
Warzone players want UAVs removed from Buy Stations again ActivisionWarzone players want to see another major change made to UAVs in the game, this time reverting back to when they weren’t available in Buy Stations, but only through Contracts instead. Since Caldera launched at the tail end of 2021 with the Warzone Pacific update, and the integration of Vanguard into the game, developers Raven have trialed a number of different changes. These changes have been met with different responses, with majority opposition to the loadout drop changes, but a lot of support for nerfing the number of Field Upgrades like Dead Silence available. UAVs have been in an awkward place throughout the duration of Caldera, though, being removed from playlists, added in, priced up, and priced back down. And some players aren’t happy with where they’ve landed. With Season 2 well underway now, certain players are calling for a revert to the UAV changes. “The most fun me and my friends had in Caldera was during that run of VG Royale that removed the UAVs and had them tied to completing contracts,” said maxpowerphd. “Without the constant UAVs we could dump the ghost perk and run other options which was a lot of fun. But now with the UAVs back I feel compelled to use ghost again … I think they were onto something with the UAV change and hope they bring it back or up the price on them again.” While there were a number of different ideas shared in the comments of maxpower’s post, they were almost all in support of changing back or changing something in general. Some said that they would like to see the price knocked back up to $9000, while others suggested removing UAVs and imitating the minimap ping from Resurgence in regular BR when you kill an opponent. UAVs have undergone a number of changes in recent months, with different players liking each change, so it’s unclear where exactly Raven will settle with the UAV.

Warzone players want Swagg-themed operator & gun skin: “I’d buy it immediately” – Dexerto
Warzone players want Swagg-themed operator & gun skin: “I’d buy it immediately” FaZe ClanWarzone players are losing their minds as Twitch and Warzone star Swagg posted a skin concept for the battle royale that has fans ready to open their wallets. Content creator skins have been discussed for quite some time. With Dr Disrespect saying the game should make them, and a fan creating a TimTheTatman Warzone skin, it’s something players want to see. One of the game’s biggest creators, Swagg has been doing whatever it takes to make sure Warzone is great, even if that meant getting a butt tattoo. While the streamer continues his shenanigans, a fan decided to pay tribute to his efforts and rendered a Warzone skin that players are eager to get their hands on. Swagg wants his custom skin added to Warzone Lets make it happen @CallofDuty pic.twitter.com/kDvY3EVRtm — FaZe Swagg ☢️ (@Swagg) February 10, 2022 In a tweet on February 10, Nuke Squad member Swagg posted a video captioned “let’s make it happen Call of Duty.” This showcased him as an operator bundle pack.in the battle royale. The animated character looked as close to Swagg as possible, with the low-cut fade, tattoos, Air Jordans, and even a Cronus logo just for laughs. It also came with three additional features. First, there is a weapon camo called “30 Ball Jamal” that featured a fiery red, black, and orange pattern, with a nuke logo across the stock and magazine. To round out the gun, it comes with a charm that has the letter ‘S’ with a crown on top. However, the best part has to be his finishing move, “Nukin’ Ankles.” Swagg may not be known as the “Movement King” but he still has some amazing footwork on the map. His finisher features him juking out an enemy, which breaks their ankles, pulling out a FaZe nuke button, and literally dropping a bomb to secure the kill. Fans were really hyped to see this with one person ready to pay whatever it takes to get this. On Twitter, KARNAGE AK said “I’d buy it immediately.” Other people chimed in saying this would “sell like hotcakes.” Even names like JGOD, who replied with several fire emojis, and ZooMaa, who said “the ankle break” with three laughing emojis, think it’s an amazing idea. Swagg has already immortalized Warzone on his end, literally, so maybe Raven Software could repay the favor and give him this skin bundle in-game.

Warzone players want simple QOL update to improve gaming sessions – Dexerto
Warzone players want simple QOL update to improve gaming sessions ActivisionWarzone players are begging Raven Software to add a simple change to the ping system which would allow players to pick a color throughout a gaming session. With Season 2 of Warzone Pacific, the community was given over 30 quality of life changes to improve the battle royale. From stun fixes to armor changes, fans have been extremely happy with these updates. However, players aren’t satisfied. The community thinks that one simple feature is missing, and it would make the game even better if implemented. Warzone community offers basic change to ping system Fans have been complaining about the Warzone ping system for quite some time and now a new issue has arrived. When you load into a game, everyone is assigned a color and your pings will appear as that color. However, in a Reddit post by user ‘Sunny16,’ the player is extremely frustrated by the system in Warzone and wants some consistency in this regard. Sunny is annoyed that every new game gives players a different color than before. Even if they play with the same people it is still changing game-by-game. This is making it extremely confusing for people that are queuing all night long since they can’t get used to who is making the call out via the ping system. Redditor ‘moonheron’ was one of many in favor of this as they said, “These are the QoL features that make a good game great.” The suggested system would add a feature that would allow players to predetermine a color when they create a squad. This would allow Warzone players to keep the same one while they play the game.

Warzone players want simple loot change to freshen up “boring” game – Dexerto
Warzone players want simple loot change to freshen up “boring” game ActivisionA number of Call of Duty Warzone players have called for a change to ground loot that would see it refreshed every week, with the aim of keeping the battle royale feeling fresh. When Warzone launched as a part of Call of Duty Modern Warfare, players questioned how it would evolve as new Call of Duty titles are released each year. The release of Black Ops Cold War answered that question, with the new game’s equipment taking the spot of the existing ground loot. The integration of Cold War hasn’t come without issue, either. Players have complained about broken weapons, new bugs it’s brought, as well as the change to Gulag. Raven Software have been attempting to address the issues, but players have been demanding different changes over time to keep them interested in playing – instead of ditching the game for Apex Legends, Fortnite, or even PUBG. The newest call for a change comes in the form of changing ground loot. Some players have proposed the idea of refreshing the items every week or so, with the intention of keeping the game fresh. Read More: How League Play works in Black Ops Cold War – “Changing every season makes the game a little boring after a month or so,” said Reddit user renanxiterzz, who brought the idea of the change up. Players immediately agreed with the thinking. “Hell yeah, I’m a little sick and tired of using the trash Milano or Pellington while searching for better weapons, said one. “Yes, should be as often as they change the weapons in the gulag,” added another. One player, JohnnyC908, agreed with the idea but noted it might bring about more problems than it would solve. “They can’t implement anything without new glitches. I’d hate to see what kind of weird s**t would happen if they started swapping out guns every week,” they said. Of course, while it’s a simple change, it could also drag up more arguments about gun balancing. Plus, some players wouldn’t want their rhythm disrupted by not being able to find a certain weapon, for example. The devs can, and have, listened to calls from players for changes but at the end of the day, it’s up to them to make the switch.

Warzone players want simple in-game feature to avoid hackers – Dexerto
Warzone players want simple in-game feature to avoid hackers ActivisionThe Warzone community has been infested with hackers for quite some time, but Call of Duty players think adding an in-game block feature will help avoid running into hackers. Unfortunately, hacking is no stranger to the streets of Verdansk, as cheaters do all sorts of things like ruin games or use unreleased skins. Despite all of the complaints, there has slowly been some progress made by the devs to eliminate these cheaters. While players patiently wait for the integration of Vanguard’s anti-cheat to Warzone, the community has come up with a feature to help with the hacking problem. Warzone players suggest in-game block feature to avoid hackers While there is no official anti-cheat, a good way for players to stay away from hackers is by blocking them. Even though this isn’t the most ideal way to clean up the streets, it is the easiest method players have. However, this Reddit post by ‘mugs_sgum’ suggests that Raven Software should add a block button in-game so players can immediately take care of running into a cheater. Currently, people that wish to block someone have to leave the game they are in. After that, you need to access the ‘Recent Players’ tab, find the cheater, and then block them. By adding this in-game, it will allow fans to not have to go through the pain of searching through the recent players. Also, you won’t need to remember what their name was. One Redditor really liked this idea and said, “Especially since they don’t always update immediately and you have to wait 5 minutes for their name to load in.” Players think this could be a big help as it can take a while for that tab to update. While Vanguard is around a month away with the integration soon to follow, this could just be one of a lot of changes coming to Warzone to prevent hacking in the game.

Warzone players want simple feature to help with looting – Dexerto
Warzone players want simple feature to help with looting ActivisionWarzone players are constantly looking for ways that the devs can improve the game. The community may have a fix for the issues of not knowing what attachments are on certain weapons which can make looting easier. When it comes to Warzone there are thousands of combinations that players can use in a loadout. From weapons, perks, equipment, to attachments there are endless possibilities. With all these different weapons and attachments it can be misleading when picking up weapons that aren’t yours. Players want to see a new feature added to the inspect weapon element, as they think it will help make the looting system better. Warzone players want feature added to make looting easier When it comes to looting Warzone, speed can be a huge factor. After wiping out a team or a player, you may want to swap weapons with something better. While most people tend to use similar meta loadouts, there are occasions where players run different attachments. This is why players want a feature added to the game that will show the exact attachments that are on the weapon. Warzone players suggest adding this to the inspect weapon feature. When a player inspects their weapon, the attachments will pop up on the screen like they do in the gunsmith. This will allow players to know what they are picking up, as some people may stay away from certain attachments because they make the gun worse. As seen in the picture above, the proposed idea would look something like that. When a player inspects their weapon all of the attachments would pop-up on their screen. One person really liked this idea and added, “Would be great for seeing attachments on floor loot to know what you’re working with.” This would also help for players that aren’t aware of what attachments are on the standard ground loot. Some players suggested having something before picking up a weapon so you don’ need to waste time swapping out your current one. While these are just suggestions it could be something the devs add when Vanguard is integrated into Warzone.

Warzone players want simple change to make Fortune’s Keep even better – Dexerto
Warzone players want simple change to make Fortune’s Keep even better ActivisionFortune’s Keep arrived in Warzone with the launch of Season 4, another small-scale map similar to Rebirth Island, and became an instant hit among players of all levels. Not everybody thinks it’s perfect, though, and have suggested one key change to help it be even more fun. After months of Caldera and Rebirth Island, Warzone developers Raven Software introduced Fortune’s Keep to the game, providing something fresh to players who hadn’t had a small, new map since Rebirth first arrived in the Cold War integration in 2020. Players have been loving it both on an aesthetic level and for gameplay, especially as opinions are still very divided on Caldera despite how long it’s been in the game. There’s one issue that many players are noting though and want to be fixed, and that’s how many Buy Stations there are on the map. As pointed out in the above Reddit post from DidntMeanToLoadThat, there is a clear lack of Buys on Fortune’s Keep across the map, with only one on the West side of the map in the screenshot, and it’s very centrally located. This is especially frustrating if you want to land closer to the outskirts of the map and when you gather enough money to buy a Loadout Drop, UAVs, or similar, means you have to traverse across the map, putting yourself in more danger. Complaints about Fortune’s Keep so far have been very few and far between, with some in the comments saying it’s actually their only complaint about the map, comparing it to how the randomness of Buy Stations on Rebirth Island “always felt fine.” It’s very possible that Raven make some changes to Fortune’s Keep in the future and bring more Buy Stations in, but for now, you’re best off keeping an eye on where the Buys are before you choose your landing spot.

Warzone players want simple Apex Legends feature added to game – Dexerto
Warzone players want simple Apex Legends feature added to game ActivisionWarzone players are requesting one major feature be added to the game, and it’s something already found in battle royale competitor Apex Legends. Battle royale has been the go-to genre for many gamers in recent years, but very few have had any amount of staying power to remain a top title. As it stands, there are three key battle royale titles that maintain large player counts and fanfare: Warzone, Fortnite and Apex Legends. With this, they each like to take ideas from each other and improve their own game in any way possible, and now Warzone fans are requesting one that can already be found in Apex. If you’ve played much Warzone at all, you’ll know how important a good loadout is. Whether you’re trying to test out the new FARA assault rifle in Season 2 or imitate NICKMERCS’ M16 build, there’s no way of really getting a feel for it until you’re in the game. In Apex Legends, you can head over to the firing range between matches to test out weapons, work on your movement or figure out the best ways to utilize characters’ abilities — and Warzone fans are asking for something similar. Posting to Reddit, Lifeesstwange has begged the Warzone developers to add a firing range to test out weapon builds between matches. This, they say, would be nice to just fire off a couple of clips, rather than dropping in to a match just to find out the loadout is “garbage.” They also add that it “would be good to help make a workable build with what you have when still working on a weapon,” for example when a new weapon comes out and you don’t have many attachments for it. Of course, comparisons between the major battle royale titles will never cease, especially since they all individually have components and features that help them shine above the others. That said, a firing range in Warzone is definitely something that should be seriously considered, especially since meta loadouts change so often and there are so many weapons available. Whether this is something Activision or Raven Software decide to add in the future remains to be seen, but it’s certainly an idea that’s picking up steam online.

Warzone players want Serpentine nerfed already as perk is “too strong” – Dexerto
Warzone players want Serpentine nerfed already as perk is “too strong” ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone fans have been voicing their frustrations with the Serpentine perk, with some claiming it is “too strong” in the hands of some players. Over the last few seasons, Warzone players have wanted to see Raven Software shake up the selection of perks on offer in the battle royale and give them a bit of a reset. The devs have answered those calls in a number of ways, buffing a handful of pre-existing perks and adding new ones to boot. Most recently, as a part of the Season 3 update, Raven introduced the Serpentine perk to Warzone – a perk 1 option that reduces incoming damage from bullets, explosives, and fire by 20%. The perk hasn’t yet displaced Cold-Blooded or Double Time as a go-to choice, but it has gotten some love from some players. Though, that has annoyed others who believe it is a little “too strong” when paired with Stim Shots. A number of fans flagged their annoyance with the perk across social media, with some asking why the perk was even added to the battle royale in the first place. “Since the update with the added health, and the inclusion of Serpentine it is now so hard to get kills compared to before,” stated …, who believes games have become “more ratty” as a result. “Extra health good, Serpentine bad,” replied one fan, offering a simplified take on things. “Serpentine in the hands of good players is definitely way too strong, especially paired with stims,” added another. Another player, Redditor light-warrior, called on the devs to “nerf” the perk if they’re not going to adjust health further. “Serpentine makes engagements frustrating and drawn out. Needs a rework for sure,” agreed Connairefstanfield. Of course, not everyone believes the perk is all that useful. YouTuber JGOD stated that Serpentine is only worth using if Iron Trials is re-introduced as a game mode later down the line. It remains to be seen if anything will happen to the perk, but it seems unlikely right now given how recently it was introduced to the battle royale.

Warzone players want serious Modern Warfare weapon buffs after AMAX nerf – Dexerto
Warzone players want serious Modern Warfare weapon buffs after AMAX nerf ActivisionEven though Raven Software have confirmed that they’ll be looking at buffing Modern Warfare weapons for Warzone, some players want changes now, especially to rifles like the SCAR. While Warzone has now fully integrated with Black Ops Cold War, some players haven’t made the switch to the new game and are still playing through Modern Warfare. Even though they can pick up the Cold War weapons through ground loot and off other players, they’re limited in what they can use for their loadouts. With the AMAX being hit with a pretty big nerf, some Modern Warfare players are looking to change their loadout up, but they don’t want to go back to weapons like the Kilo or Grau. They want something new and fresh. For most players, the answer lies with the FN Scar. It’s a classic CoD weapon and incredibly powerful in the real world, but in Warzone, it’s not all that great. “The AMAX is a 7.62×39 gun IRL, and the SCAR is 7.62×51. Much higher power round. Why does the SCAR have less ammunition, a lower fire rate, and less damage?” one fan asked, adding that in a “perfect world” the SCAR would be superior. Others agreed and hoped that Raven would “do justice” to the SCAR in the upcoming round of changes. “I’ve been patiently waiting for a scar meta! Loved that gun in multiplayer,” added another. Aside from the SCAR, some players noted that weapons like the ODEN and AK should get some love as well. Both weapons were strong when Warzone first released, but have slipped down in terms of usage, sitting at 44th and 34th on WZRanked, respectively. While Raven have confirmed they’ll be looking into changing some of the MW weapons, it remains to be seen as to when they’ll do so.

Warzone players want return of popular Verdansk weapons feature – Dexerto
Warzone players want return of popular Verdansk weapons feature ActivisionWarzone players have called for the return of a popular yet understated feature in the weapon pool from Verdansk, and it could completely change the game across all of the current maps, both regular battle royale and resurgence. Warzone players yearning for the days of Verdansk is no new thing by any means. Many miss the “golden days” of the Call of Duty battle royale, with the old map, movement, and more being beloved. However, it’s not just the map itself that fans want to bring back — which many leaks point towards actually happening — but some details that once would be considered minor are now leaving players feeling like the current game is missing something. And while many players miss the old meta weapons, there are actually certain weapon features that they want to return — and it pertains specifically to floor loot. Warzone players request blueprint floor loot weapons again Floor loot can make or break your early-game fights — if you fail to find a good gun when you land, it could mean an extremely quick trip to the Gulag. That aside, one thing that developers Raven Software stopped doing at some point, but players want back, is putting blueprint weapons in the floor rotation, and some have called for it to come back. “Why did the devs remove blueprint weapons from supply boxes?” asked Knexium on Reddit. “I kinda miss getting to use new blueprints without having to buy them.” While the comments were quick to suggest that Knexium answered their own question — that buying the blueprints was important to Activision — there is some merit to the idea that if players like the blueprints enough, they might actually go to the store and buy them. It seems unlikely that Raven would consider bringing back floor loot blueprints, but nothing is impossible, so you never know.

Warzone players want return of classic CoD multiplayer announcer bundles – Dexerto
Warzone players want return of classic CoD multiplayer announcer bundles ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players want the return of a few classic cosmetics that would make the game sound and feel a little bit fresher. Over the years, Call of Duty has innovated with a few different add-ons and cosmetics. Most of them have been pretty easy like character and weapon skins, but they have gotten a little crazier too. With the rise of Warzone, there has been a massive demand for new cosmetics, especially as weapon blueprints and operator bundles sell like crazy whenever they’re in the item store. However, the add-on that some players have called for wouldn’t be seen in-game. No, they’d be heard whenever you call in a killstreak or get down into the final few players. That’s right, some Warzone players want to be able to use different announcers in-game – be it the return of characters from CoD’s gone by like Modern Warfare 2 or Ghosts, or even celebrity appearances. It was an idea floated by ElectroLuminescence using the classic Delta Force announcer and it quickly garnered the support of fellow players who chipped in with their own idea for who could start commentating on Warzone matches. “If we got cool voices again like Snoop Dogg I might,” said one fan on the possibility of digging into their pocket to buy an announcer bundle. “Would be cooler if it was Ice Cube,” added another before a further player suggested Samuel L Jackson. Other players also threw out the idea of having a generic elderly announcer who might be confused by the Warzone terminology as that would provide some laughs. Other players, of course, noted that it’s probably not a priority for the developers but it could be a fun addition. It’s been done for years in other games like DOTA 2 with each announcer bringing their own unique flavor to announcing kills, killstreaks, and special moments. With the number of moments that get a callout in Warzone, the possibilities are endless.

Warzone players want removed Resurgence map back with one change to make it perfect – Dexerto
Warzone players want removed Resurgence map back with one change to make it perfect ActivisionA once-popular Resurgence map in Warzone, which has largely been forgotten about since Rebirth Island was re-introduced, is being removed from the game for Season 4, but some players are disappointed to see it leave rather than just updated and improved. Ashika Island was introduced in February 2023 during Modern Warfare II’s life cycle. It offered a different take on a Resurgence map with a Japanese theme and an ambient, somber vibe in comparison to the likes of Fortune’s Keep and Vondel. While it had its critics, Ashika Island also had a devoted player base that preferred it to both of the above maps and even Rebirth Island when that returned, and they just wanted to see it given some love. That said, it was announced on Tuesday, May 21 that the map would be taken out of the game in the coming days, starting from May 23 and leading right into the Season 4 launch on May 29. “Ashika Island … will soon see its last week in Modern Warfare III,” the announcement from Warzone developers Raven Software read. “We’re directing our focus toward other map-mode combinations for upcoming playlist updates. This is part of our continued effort to provide players with a recurring, focused playlist that delivers on the best player experience…” “With that said, the week of May 23rd gives players one last chance to enjoy Ashika Island before it gracefully exits the rotation.” While Ashika had become one of the less popular maps in the game, there were still players disappointed by this announcement, who explained that something as drastic as removing content shouldn’t have been necessary. Many comments pointed to one key problem with Ashika that held it back – the lighting. “This map would have been 10x better received if it wasn’t the COD map embodiment of seasonal depression,” said content creator LoochyTV. This map would have been 10x better received if it wasn’t the COD map embodiment of seasonal depression. — Loochy (@LoochyTV) May 21, 2024 A little skybox revamp would have went a long way. Similarly, Warzone Meta posted a poll in the replies asking whether people would prefer Ashika Island be removed or simply made sunny, with almost 70% of the 4000 votes selecting the latter. They followed it up with another post suggesting that if the map was made sunny and with more cherry blossoms it would have been more successful. They even went as far as to compare it to the Black Ops 3 DLC map Knockout. Ashika Island is actually not bad at all 🥺 — Warzone Meta (@WZStatsGG) May 21, 2024 Just please make it sunny with more Cherry Blossom & keep it! 🙏🌸 It should look more like Knockout from BO3 👇 pic.twitter.com/icdIluMhuy At the time of writing, there have been no leaks or reports suggesting that Ashika Island will be replaced by another Resurgence map in Season 4. That means the only playable maps in Season 4 will be Urzikstan, Rebirth Island, Fortune’s Keep, and Vondel.

Warzone players want Raven to learn big lesson from Vanguard & BOCW integration – Dexerto
Warzone players want Raven to learn big lesson from Vanguard & BOCW integration ActivisionWarzone players want the team at Raven Software to learn from past mistakes from Vanguard’s and Black Ops Cold War’s integration. Since Warzone’s release in 2020, the battle royale boomed in popularity and brought a breath of fresh air to Call of Duty players. Warzone has since experienced integrations with two different CoD titles, Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard, each of them bringing a slew of new additions to Warzone. However, players want the developers to learn a lesson from these past integrations for upcoming releases. “The engine MW19 was made with, was an eye-opener to what COD’s future was going to look like,” one fan has argued. “Nothing was comparable to how realistic, crisp, and fun the game was made out to be,” said HardGoreHenry. The Warzone player continued: “With the game studio releasing more and more content, we couldn’t be happier. Then, right when we thought cod was going to get repetitive, they drop Warzone. A BR made with the same engine as MW19 so it’s no wonder it was a success from the start. “Unfortunately, once Cold War came around, that’s when Warzone started to become less interesting,” they claimed. “Warzone should have stayed its own style, its own story, its own entity, separate from everything else except MW19, the origin of Warzone.” They also added that players were upset when Vanguard was released, knowing that the meta would inevitably change: “When we got Vanguard a lot of Warzone fans weren’t happy because we knew the guns were going to change and so was the meta. I’m going to be frank here, nobody wanted World War II guns.” Warzone 2, which is reportedly in development for a 2023 release will be a huge success, they argue, but don’t want its potential wasted in historical settings. Some players agreed, with one fan commenting: “The integration of Cold War and Vanguard was a huge mistake and I think they realize it now.” Another fan added: “We already said this after the Cold War’s integration, the Vanguard integration just made it worse.” However, others noted that the Verdansk days of Warzone were far from perfect, with the battle royale being plagued with many bugs, glitches, unbalanced weapons, and the same boring old buildings across the entire map. Players will look forward to the Warzone’s sequel, which is reportedly now in development for a 2023 launch. However, no official release date has been revealed for the next iteration of a CoD battle royale.

Warzone players want popular Apex Legends feature to punish early quitters – Dexerto
Warzone players want popular Apex Legends feature to punish early quitters Warzone players want popular Apex Legends feature to punish early quitters Activision / Respawn EntertainmentWarzone players are asking for a simple feature to be added to the game that battle royale rival Apex Legends already has. Warzone is one of the biggest games when it comes to the battle royale genre. Apex Legends is another BR game that stands atop with it. These games have constantly been taking ideas from one another and implementing them into their respective games to help compete and increase player base. And now, Warzone players want what Apex Legends has: a penalty system for early leavers. Warzone community wants system to penalize quitting early In Apex, players that quit an Arena match early will receive a 10-minute cooldown before they can queue up again and try to become the Champion. Although Warzone doesn’t have a ranked playlist out, players are still upset that their teammates can leave the game early and put them at a disadvantage for the rest of the game. In a Reddit thread, players discussed why leaving a game just because you died is hurting everyone else on your squad in a team game. One Redditor loved the idea of having a penalty added and went after people that don’t want it, saying that “if you have a real life reason to leave the game you shouldn’t be affected by the 5 min penalty.” In Warzone, players have the feature to buy-back their teammates for $4,000 but if a teammate leaves the game before the squad does that then the whole team is put at a disadvantage for the rest of the game. If this feature is added to the game it could change the way people play “Fill Squads.” Solo players that may not want to play alone could be forced to wait out games even if teammates will not buy them back. Activision have not made any comments on future plans to add a cooldown for players that leave early, so for now players will only lose out on XP.

Warzone players want Overwatch feature to prevent hackers – Dexerto
Warzone players want Overwatch feature to prevent hackers Activison / BlizzardIf you have played a decent amount of Warzone then it is almost certain that you have run into cheaters. However, players want a feature from Overwatch that could help deter hackers from making new accounts. Hacking has been the hot topic of Warzone for a while. Even with the release of the RICOCHET anti-cheat hackers still seem plentiful. Since Warzone is free it is possible that hackers are getting banned but just making new accounts over and over to cheat on. This is why the community has come up with a plan that mimics the likes of Overwatch to help demoralize cheaters from making new accounts. Warzone players think Overwatch feature could stop hackers In Overwatch, all accounts are required to reach level 25 before they are able to queue into the ranked playlist. While Warzone doesn’t have a competitive mode, players still think that a system could be implemented so new accounts can’t hop straight into public matches. This Reddit post by ‘WolfHoundJP’ explains what Raven Software could do to ensure that level 1 accounts aren’t ruining matches with cheats. WolfHoundJP is tired of constantly running into low-level hackers (new accounts). They believe a time-based system to unlock playlists could make hackers move on from Warzone. They stated Raven should “introduce a policy that any new account has to put game time in before gaining access to public ranked lobbies.” Some suggestions included making fresh accounts play 15 bot lobbies before being able to openly queue into any match. “This would help reduce the number of hackers and it will help actual new players to learn the game better.” However, some feel that it could push new players away, even though it could limit hackers. One Redditor said, “I think it’s a good idea but it would tank the game for actual new players.” If Raven were to introduce a system, players want to see a balance that would promote new people to try the game, but drive away the illegitimate ones.
