Warzone players share easy trick to unlock Vargo 52 AR in Modern Warfare ActivisionWarzone players have discovered a simple trick that allows them to unlock the new Vargo 52 assault rifle in Modern Warfare. In a March 4 Black Ops Cold War update, players were given a brand-new assault rifle that is now available across Warzone and Cold War. However, this isn’t being handed out for free; players must complete a challenge in order to access this in the FPS titles. While it is a Cold War gun, Modern Warfare owners are actually in luck as Warzone players have found a method to unlock the gun in the 2019 CoD, and it’s super easy. How to unlock Vargo 52 in Modern Warfare New York Subliners content creator ‘MavriqGG’ informed players there is a glitch to unlock the Vargo 52 on Modern Warfare, and it hasn’t been patched. To unlock this weapon, all you need to do is 1,000 damage with an assault rifle in 15 different games. And this trick makes it even easier. Can confirm you can STILL UNLOCK the Vargo in MW. Challenge is the same as it was before (AR Dmg 15 times) AND you can leave games, it’ll still track. https://t.co/owLDQD1ikj — Mavriq (@MavriqGG) March 4, 2022 Players only have to deal 1,000 damage in a Modern Warfare lobby and then immediately leave said lobby. Despite backing out, the game will still count your progress toward the 15 games needed to unlock. This was previously tested out back in February by JGOD when a glitch was in the game to unlock the gun early. Heard a Rumor that you could unlock the New CW Vargo 58 Assault Rifle in MW MP, so I tried it for myself… pic.twitter.com/HN7zipJsrJ — James – JGOD (@JGODYT) February 17, 2022 As seen from his clip, the new AR unlocks once you complete the challenge. This means you will have access to it across all of Cold War (including Zombies) and in Warzone. If you don’t own Modern Warfare or Cold War, then you will need to complete the challenge in Warzone. This can be tougher though, as you must finish 15 different matches and do at least 1,000 damage in each.

Warzone players seriously frustrated and demand fire ammo nerf again – Dexerto
Warzone players seriously frustrated and demand fire ammo nerf again ActivisionWarzone players are demanding nerfs to a seriously frustrating weapon attachment once again, with fire ammo becoming a huge issue since the Vanguard integration. Longtime Warzone players will have not-so-fond memories of the fire ammunition attachments available in the game. The inclusion of fire ammunition was prevalent on shotguns throughout the Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War eras, making for a doubly frustrating combination of insane damage stats and, of course, the paralyzing fire rounds. They were eventually nerfed and Verdansk became less of a fiery, shotgun-infested game, but since the Vanguard integration, the issue has arisen once again. Now, fire rounds are available on most weapon classes, and they’ve become a real nuisance for players trying to dominate in Caldera. On top of the “toxic” akimbo double-barrel shotgun loadout that is wreaking havoc in Caldera, Warzone players are finding the game increasingly annoying to play. “Every single person is running the fire ammunition on their setup. Why is this even in the game,” asked ArchMageMagnus. “It’s so OP that you’d be an idiot not to run it on every gun once it’s unlocked. Every single engagement I was in last night had this in their loadout.” Much of the responses were in agreement that the incendiary rounds are overpowered but insisted that running the E.O.D. perk is a necessity with the current Warzone meta, and makes the fire damage much less frustrating. While this is true, some players don’t want to be forced into running one particular perk just to counter an attachment that seems overpowered, especially if they prefer the increased speed that comes from popular Perk 1 Double Time. Whether devs Raven decide to nerf the incendiary rounds again remains to be seen, but it’s causing some serious PTSD for players that have only just got over the ‘doof doof’ meta of yesteryear.

Warzone players scold devs for April Fools update: “Fix the game first” – Dexerto
Warzone players scold devs for April Fools update: “Fix the game first” Activision / AppleSome Warzone fans have been furious with Raven Software as game-breaking issues linger. And they are hitting at the devs for the April Fools update for making a “joke” patch instead of fixing actual issues. On April 1, Warzone devs got into the spirit of the worldwide April Fools Day by releasing a gag patch that added tons of silliness to the battle royale. While it definitely took away from the core of Warzone, fans seemed overwhelmingly excited with it and thanked the devs for bringing this to the game. However, there are always two sides to a story, and this isn’t a fairytale ending for Raven as players are fuming over the problems that still aren’t fixed. Warzone community wants actual fixes to game In a Reddit post by ‘Bardan01’ the user wanted to know how long to “avoid the game” because of the April Fools update. They said that they worked a long week so they don’t want to come home and hop into a “chaotic mode” when they’re “trying to get better.” Some people hit back at complainers telling them to just sit back and “enjoy the fun” while another Reddit thread said there is not way to “please this community.”Here people were calling all of these haters “party poopers,” as they thought this LTM was the best ever. A #Warzone update has gone live! Loadout timing reverted, new Contract, Gameplay & Weapon adjustments, and more! 🙈🙉🙊 The Season Two Reloaded Patch Notes have been amended (see April 1st): https://t.co/GEHUFINP6C pic.twitter.com/4YW99UVWii — Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) April 1, 2022 However, in Raven’s tweet announcing the April Fools patch, many people responded with ‘why not fix this’ or ‘this is still a problem’ and ‘fix the main issues first.’ It is clear that the community wants the core issues fixed, and even though Season 2 Reloaded resolved some, there are still many problems. They have marked those on their Trello board, but things like FPS dropping, guns being unbalanced, and hackers running loose are still plaguing the game.

Warzone players satisfied with RICOCHET anti-cheat “overwhelming success” – Dexerto
Warzone players satisfied with RICOCHET anti-cheat “overwhelming success” ActivisionHackers have had their way in Warzone for quite some time, but the new RICOCHET anti-cheat has been putting an end to it and players are happy with the early success. The biggest news of Warzone Pacific came back on October 13, when the anti-cheat was revealed to the community. This new system has been implemented to monitor the streets of Caldera and minimize the cheating issue. While the anti-cheat was delayed a bit and released on December 15, a week after Season 1’s launch, players are overly excited with the initial success the program has seen. Warzone players pleased with RICOCHET anti-cheat success The Call of Duty Warzone anti-cheat is live and players everywhere are rejoicing as the infestation of cheaters is slowly getting wiped out. In this Reddit post by ‘Chief-Aldo,’ they claim that the anti-cheat has done a great job and, when looking at all of Warzone’s problems, hacking is one of the last things brought up. Warzone players are ecstatic that this is finally here and that it actually has been extremely viable for making sure hackers are suppressed. One Redditor, looking past all the bugs and issues with the game, said that “even with the glitches, the post-RICOCHET era has been so much more fun to play in.” The community is starting to notice a turn for the better and even though there are still numerous issues with Warzone, they are enjoying the Pacific more than Verdansk. Another person added, “it’s working pretty well. I’ve probably had 3 rage hackers in 200 games. Cheaters are enough of a rarity now that the game is perfectly playable.” It has only been two weeks since the RICOCHET launch but players are already loving the changes are think it “can only get better with time.”

Warzone players roast “impossible” melee weapon unlock challenges – Dexerto
Warzone players roast “impossible” melee weapon unlock challenges ActivisionEvery new melee weapon in Warzone comes with some kind of unlock challenge and players have had enough of the “impossible” requirements needed to get their hands on the up-close-and-personal tools of the trade. From the developer-appropriate Sledgehammer to the serrated-edged Sawtooth, all of Warzone’s melee take a bit of effort to unlock. Whether it’s collecting a certain amount of multikills over a few games or meeting some other tough-to-meet requirement, the constant grind has worn down certain members of the community and they’re making sure that their feelings are heard. Warzone players outraged over melee weapon challenges This round of complaints was kicked off when one player asked if there was a way to pick up Kali Sticks without having to complete all of the ‘impossible s**t’ needed to unlock them normally, which entails picking up 3 knife kills while sliding in 15 different matches. While some players suggested loading up Modern Warfare and completing it in a small map playlist like Shoot the Ship, there were more than a few commenters that agreed with the sentiment that things need to change. One player ventured beyond the melee weapons and simply asked: “What’s with these stupid f****ng rules for acquiring guns lately?” Another commenter pointed out this kind of challenge requires a significant time sink that could ruin your taste for the game. “In my experience, completing these dumb little events to get weapons has made Warzone a bore to play. Let us have fun without losing hours please…” they said. Someone else also pointed out that it’s possible to skip the headache entirely if you’re willing to spend a little cash: “The dragon turtle bundle with the Ram Jam Kali Sticks has been in and out of the store for people. 800 CP.” It might not be the most attractive option for everyone but it certainly saves a lot of time and frustration at the end of the day.

Warzone players want a simple feature taken from Fortnite & Apex Legends – Dexerto
Warzone players want a simple feature taken from Fortnite & Apex Legends Activision/Respawn/Epic GamesWarzone players have revealed one feature they really want added to the Call of Duty battle royale title — and it is copied straight from its top competitors, Fortnite and Apex Legends. [jwplayer seN10a3q] Fortnite was possibly the biggest game to ever exist at its peak, popularizing the battle royale genre to millions upon millions of fans worldwide. It set off a huge wave of new BR games, including Apex Legends which remains super popular to this day and, of course, Warzone. That said, while the games are all different, they bear several similarities and aren’t afraid to take ideas from one another when certain features work. For example, Fortnite introduced the Reboot Van as a direct copy of Apex’s Respawn Beacon. Now, there’s one feature in both Fortnite and Apex Legends that Warzone players want introduced to Verdansk, and it could be a complete game-changer. Right now, most of you will judge your drops primarily based on where the first circle is. For example, you might like dropping Quarry but, if the circle is in the south-west side of the map, you might instead aim for Train Station or Promenade West. What some players want to see is no first circle marker when flying in — you pick your drop based on where you like landing rather than where the circle is spreading out the lobby a little more and also meaning you have to adapt on the fly. This idea was posed by CIassic_Ghost on Reddit, and you can see here what he means. This has proved a heavily popular concept with other Warzone players, amassing thousands of upvotes. That said, there are some detractors too, with some players worried it would add too much RNG to the game or end with players always dropping in the same spots. It would definitely make for a more interesting drop, but whether it would work long-term remains to be seen. Fortnite and Apex Legends clearly have some definitive staying power, so they’re doing something right — maybe Warzone could copy this to help bolster the game even further.

Warzone players reveal which competitive features they most want added – Dexerto
Warzone players reveal which competitive features they most want added ActivisionThere is no shortage of cosmetics and weapon changes in Call of Duty: Warzone, but players have their eyes set elsewhere. Following a poll directed at the competitive community, it’s clear what features players want most. Season 4 Reloaded had the largest patch to weapons in Warzone history and, understandably, the game’s gun meta is now more diverse than ever. That used to be a principal concern of the community, who had grown sick of rigid metas like the DMR or R9-0. After Warzone Twitter became overridden by discussion of hackers in recent weeks, we turned to the community to answer two questions: First, how big could the game be if it had an effective anti-cheat? And second, what feature would be at the top of everyone’s wishlist? Considering the reactions to the former, the results of the second shouldn’t be entirely shocking. There were two principal wishlist options: effective anti-cheat and a ranked playlist. The third option was “other,” to allow for flexibility. Viewership is high, player base is large, gun meta is more diverse than ever… For continued game & esport growth, what’s highest on your Warzone wishlist? — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) July 17, 2021 As you can see, the community very firmly agreed upon one thing: Warzone needs an effective anti-cheat. Other free-to-play titles like Fortnite, Valorant, and League of Legends don’t seem to have the same hacker problem that CoD’s title does — so it’s clear that there’s potential for the situation to be better. While 85% voted for anti-cheat, another 13% confidently voted for a ranked playlist. Whether this would work like it does in Apex Legends is unclear, but the hopes for a more competitive atmosphere are evident. After so much hacking drama over the past few months, it’s understandable that Warzone fans want an anti-cheat over everything else. That’s all people talked about in the replies as well, so no one can be certain what “other” features the 2% hope for. One possibility? Maybe they want Black Ops Cold War’s Zombies camos added to the game. And, if that’s the case, then there might be some good news for those who are still focused on cosmetics — at least, according to recent leaks. (If they want dev errors to be fixed, then there’s no good news.) As it stands, it’s obvious why an anti-cheat would help the game become even bigger than it already is. Fewer hackers would mean less-frustrating matches for higher-skilled individuals and more seamless tournaments. A ranked playlist could also help the tournament scene, as Kill Races could be a more favorable format if everyone’s lobbies enjoyed stricter SBMM. The opportunities are endless, but the community wants Activision to focus on step one: the anti-cheat.

Warzone players reveal biggest change they’re excited for in MW3 – Dexerto
Warzone players reveal biggest change they’re excited for in MW3 ActivisionWarzone fans have revealed the things they’re most excited for when Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 takes over the battle royale, with one big change leading the way. With the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 cycle approaching its endpoint, it won’t be long before the CoD community is diving into Modern Warfare 3 and checking out everything the new installment has to offer. However, if you’re solely a Warzone fan, things aren’t going to change overnight. The integration between MW3 and the CoD battle royale isn’t set to happen until December, with the new Urzkistan map being the main highlight. Other maps and additions will come down the line too, so there is a little bit of a wait still. Despite that, players are already excited to see what MW3 has to offer the battle royale and have started to reveal what they’re most excited about when it comes to the upcoming changes. Warzone fans excited for MW3 to clean up gunplay If you’re expecting the new map – and returning maps – to be the main cause for excitement, well, you wouldn’t be too far off base. It’s actually a potential clean-up of visual clutter that has got most players excited as it’ll make gun fights a bit easier to navigate. “Looking forward to MW3 gunplay. Less visual recoil and gunsmoke is a W,” said one. “As an M&K peasant, less visual recoil and clutter,” another agreed. “Reduced gun smoke, muzzle flash, and shake. I’m stoked to be able to (hopefully) see what I’m shooting at at a distance,” added another. Others added that the overall “fresh start” of a new game is enough for them, while some players are hoping that a return to the original Warzone movement breathes new life into the battle royale. As noted, we’ll have to wait until December to see how things shake out, but plenty of fans are excited anyway.

Warzone players reportedly being placed into private lobbies – Dexerto
Warzone players reportedly being placed into private lobbies Activision[jwplayer RadxeDp1] Some Call of Duty Warzone players are reporting that they are being placed into private lobbies, despite the fact that the feature currently isn’t available in the game yet. Warzone is packed with interesting features. From in-game elements like the Gulag and buy stations, to interesting gamemodes like 50v50 rumble and Juggernaut Battle Royale, there’s no denying that the game is stacked to the brim with content. One feature that’s been missing since launch, however, is private matches. The ability for players to jump into the own matches with nobody else (or, at the very least, select players) is something that fans have been clamoring for and, as of yet, the developers haven’t obliged. That might be changing soon, though. Some players are now reporting that they are being placed into private Warzone lobbies against their will, despite the feature not being implemented into the game in any capacity. We previously reported that private matches were coming to #Warzone soon. 😅 Needless to say, it’s taking longer than we originally expected. 🙃 HOWEVER some players have been getting thrown into a lobby for “Warzone Private Matches”. 👀 Source: dbock3556 on Tik Tok pic.twitter.com/ThDWsyjPfc — ModernWarzone (@ModernWarzone) September 10, 2020 The news comes the way of Twitter user and CoD insider ModernWarzone, who noticed a player on TikTok made a video about being in a private lobby. Unfortunately, the video and the lobby aren’t filled with details, so there’s not much to go off of. There’s a ‘game setup’ option, but the user never goes into the menu in order to see what he can turn on and off. Weirdly enough, the map icon in the bottom of the map is automatically greyed out. The reason for this is not immediately clear. Could it be that private matches aren’t available on the current map but will be available on a new map, which is rumored to be coming with Black Ops Cold War? Whatever the reason, here’s hoping it doesn’t take too long to get our hands on private matches in Warzone. With the option being available in normal multiplayer and even other Call of Duty battle royale games like Blackout, there’s really no reason it shouldn’t be in the game.

Warzone players rejoice as devs finally acknowledge buy back bug – Dexerto
Warzone players rejoice as devs finally acknowledge buy back bug ActivisionWarzone 2 players celebrate the devs finally launching an investigation into a buy station bug that’s been causing issues for weeks. Season 5 controversially changed Warzone 2’s player count on Al Mazrah from 150 to 100. In defense of the dramatic shift, Activision argued it “would prevent the match feeling too chaotic, improve matchmaking times, create faster pre-game lobbies, and a better quality of match overall.” And to counteract the lower player count, the devs doubled down on second-chance mechanics by adding more Gulag Kits, Redeploy Packs, Reinforcement Flares, and reduced buy-back prices. Season five also shaved off three minutes from the first circle to increase the speed of matches. However, despite advertising a buy-back price decrease from $4,000 to $3,000 in the Season 5 patch notes, the change never went live, causing confusion. Warzone 2 devs address buy back bug weeks later Warzone 2 Season 5 went live on August 2. On August 22, Raven Software announced the team is launching an investigation causing buybacks to cost $4000 incorrectly. With the mid-season update presumed to go live in just a few days, Warzone 2 community members questioned why it took so long for the development team to spring into action. One Warzone 2 player responded: “It only took you 3 weeks to start an investigation?” Without a decrease in buy-back prices, it actually slowed down matches on Al Mazrah and went against the dev’s original intentions to compensate for fewer players. A second user added: “It’s literally been that way since you announced it was changing to $3,000.” Other community members weren’t even aware that there was a bug because the change never went live. As one commenter asked: “Was it meant to be $3,000?” It’s unclear when a fix will go live, but players can track the investigation on Raven Software’s Trello board. For more, make sure to check out the rest of our Warzone 2 coverage.

Warzone players ready to quit as popular modes keep disappearing – Dexerto
Warzone players ready to quit as popular modes keep disappearing ActivisionCall of Duty Warzone players are, once again, annoyed about some of their favorite game modes disappearing without any warning – especially when it comes to Plunder. When Warzone first launched, it was all about the normal battle royale mode and Plunder. The standard BR mode is your bog standard, last person or team alive wins, while Plunder added a focus on collecting money. Over time, different wrinkles have been added to the mix with new game modes. Resurgence, Iron Trials, Unhinged, and even vehicle royale have been hits with players, but the constant rotation of the different modes has annoyed players. At times, the devs have given players a heads-up on the playlist rotation, revealing what’s going to be available in the next week and what’s going away. However, sometimes they take them away without warning, and that causes plenty of frustration. Warzone players want Plunder to stop being removed That’s been the story recently as Plunder has disappeared from the rotation, much to the annoyance of players who like to use the longer mode to level up some lesser-used weapons. “I hate this with a passion. Why do they constantly remove gamemodes,” quizzed one deeply annoyed fan. “Logged in today. Saw it was gone, logged off,” another added. “100% s**te. Always plunder that gets knocked off. All the other modes seem to still be there but aren’t fun to play,” another commented. “Yeah, guess my playing time just dropped drastically. Plunder is the only mode I like and actively enjoy,” said another. Other players have suggested that if leveling weapons is the sole aim, Plunder fans will want to turn their attention to Lockdown games instead. Like with any playlist rotation, Plunder will be back in the mix before you know it, but it is annoying when it disappears for an extended period.

Warzone players randomly losing weapons and cash due to major map bug – Dexerto
Warzone players randomly losing weapons and cash due to major map bug Infinity WardA frustrating new Call of Duty: Warzone bug has emerged, which appears to see items dropped through the floor and out of the map. Away from hacking, some of the biggest issues facing Warzone are its number of glitches and inconsistencies. We have seen determined action from Infinity Ward to reduce the prominence of some glitches, including pushing through the August 15 patch at record speed to fix the infamous ‘demon gun’ glitch. However, as one glitch is fixed another seems to rise to the surface, this time focusing on certain stairs on the map. Shared to Reddit by user ‘ohrules‘ on August 16, it takes the form of a PSA. “Avoid dropping items on the stairs that lead to the subway stations,” they said. “They go right through the floor. We lost 5k cash to these stairs.” Attached was a clip showing stairs down to a closed subway station, the likes of which there are many scattered around Verdansk. This one, located in Downtown, appears to not be loading its textures correctly as, when dropping ammunition, it falls straight through the stairs and vanishes. While losing ammo is frustrating, the player commented on the amount of money they have already lost. Money, any Warzone player will know, is as crucial as weapons when trying to stay alive. It also appears to be affecting multiple areas of the map, not just the set of stairs in Downtown that is documented in the clip. Some Reddit users even responded to say that they avoid dropping anything on stairs, having experienced similar issues all round the map. As of the publication of this article, Infinity Ward have not responded to the issues, but we will be the first to update you in regards changes and patches they make in the near future.

Warzone players quitting “unplayable” Halloween event over pay to win Gaia skin – Dexerto
Warzone players quitting “unplayable” Halloween event over pay to win Gaia skin ActivisionCall of Duty Warzone players believe the new nighttime map in the Halloween event is “impossible” to play because of the “pay to win” Gaia skin being invisible in the dark. With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on the horizon, many players feared that a Halloween celebration wouldn’t be in store for Warzone. However, that hasn’t been the case. The Haunting event has returned to celebrate the best of the spooky season and has brought with it a host of new content, including nighttime maps and terrifying skins. On the latter, the Gaia skin has caused plenty of headaches for players as many have labeled it as “pay to win” because it’s somewhat invisible. Warzone fans have been urging the devs to make a change, and while they increased the visibility somewhat, it hasn’t gone as far as they want. And, well, the skin is only creating more issues on the nighttime maps. Warzone players claim Gaia is invisible on nighttime maps Players have routinely complained that they can’t see the skin in broad daylight and it’s even more “impossible” now that the maps are darkened. “Nighttime and Gaia is literally unplayable. I physically cannot see anybody who’s killed me during the last hour,” vented Redditor DeLarge93, sparking further complaints from other players. “I played one game and quit. You can’t see s*it,” one added. “Yep. I didn’t think there was a bigger turnoff than the cheating, but they found one. It actually got me to stop playing,” another added. “Yeah the skin being physically invisible to the human eye during nighttime is so fun & interactive,” another sarcastically commented. Some players argued that thermal scopes are the easiest way to address the issue, given that they highlight enemies. Others noted that the Spotter Scope has also been helpful on that front. Players are still hoping that the Gaia skin is changed once again, regardless of the perceived counters, but they’ve also had issues with the jump scares popping up during matches. So, the devs might have to make some changes on the fly.

Warzone players question RICOCHET in Season 4 as more cheaters surface – Dexerto
Warzone players question RICOCHET in Season 4 as more cheaters surface ActivisionWarzone players are questioning the effectiveness of Activision’s new anti-cheat RICOCHET after a new influx of cheaters has emerged in Season 4. At one point in time, it was almost impossible to find a Warzone lobby without at least one cheater ruining the game. After months and months of frustration, many players, and even the biggest Warzone content creators began jumping ship to other battle royales such as Apex Legends. However, many were hopeful the issue would be resolved with the anticipated release of the RICOCHET – an all-new anti-cheat developed to combat the waves and waves of cheaters. Sadly, cheating issues are still persisting today, leaving many players to question the effectiveness of Activision’s anti-cheat. On July 8, multiple Reddit threads were posted by concerned players regarding cheaters becoming more and more prominent in-game. According to Warzone player ArchMageMagnus, they encountered a cheater in the majority of games they played during one session. “Only played 4 games today, 3 of them I died to cheaters,” said the player. “Lock on headshot from distance with Swiss and no optic. Next cheaters beaming me through a house with a Grau with no intel I was there. 3rd game I left at the pre-lobby as a player was beaming people from the sky. What the f**k is this piece of sh*t game?” In another thread, fan GrieverXVII claims to have seen a streamer lose to a cheater two games in a row. “This is getting a bit ridiculous, both times while spectating the cheaters could clearly track people through walls, were soft locking onto their heads when ADS… very obvious. Both cheaters ended up winning their games.. and both players were between levels 60-90.” It’s unclear why there’s been such a resurgence in cheaters in recent times. However, with so many complaints, it’s likely that the problem is already well on the developer’s radar. Hopefully, we’ll see some improvements to RICOCHET in the near future, as the devs have assured fans that the anti-cheat will get better as time goes on.

Warzone players puzzled after unusual $120,000 contract bonus – Dexerto
Warzone players puzzled after unusual $120,000 contract bonus Warzone fans were left puzzled after an in-game bounty contract paid out one team an insane $120,000 to each player rather than the usual amounts. Warzone players have become quite accustomed to encountering obscure bugs during games. From the map refusing to load to controversial invisible skin issues, as well as a Gulag glitch that allows players to run around the 1v1 arena – these are just a few examples of what to expect when playing Caldera. To add to the list, the latest bizarre bugs to be found have left players baffled, and it stems from bounty contracts. One team was paid out an abnormal $120,000 per player upon completion of the contract, and they’re not alone. Typically Warzone bounties usually pay a few thousand dollars upon completion. However, Warzone player Aur0n shared a clip of their team encountering a strange bug where they received $120,000 each. “A bounty contract gave us $120,000 each,” said the player. This wasn’t a graphical glitch, though, as they were able to spend the full amount at Buy Stations and pick up UAVs that “lasted the whole game.” Another player commented on their own experience with getting an insane bounty payout: “I picked one up that had a 75k reward but it got patched,” said Shencer01. “I assumed it was a graphical glitch but I guess not.” Others couldn’t help but make fun of the situation. “Ahh the economy is fixed I see,” said one player, referring to Raven’s recently revealed plans to “nerf the map’s cash flow.” Regardless, the bug will likely join the ever-growing list of things for the Raven Software devs to patch in an upcoming update.

Warzone players praise Rebirth Solo mode addition: “It needs to stay” – Dexerto
Warzone players praise Rebirth Solo mode addition: “It needs to stay” ActivisionWarzone players are loving Season 2 Reloaded’s addition of Rebirth Resurgence solos, and the community wants to see it stay in the game forever. The Season 2 Reloaded update launched on March 23 and put a heavy emphasis on Rebirth Island. From new POIs and easter eggs to Weapon Trade Stations and more quality of life features, there was a lot of content that came with it. While the start of the season saw Iron Trial come to Rebirth, this one gave us Resurgence Solos, and players are in love with it already. Rebirth solos players want it to stay in Warzone In a Reddit post by ‘CJFrancis282’ the user claimed the new solo experience is easily “one of the best modes to be added to Warzone.” With the pace of the mode unlike a solo game — since you have the chance to respawn — and the non-stop action, players are quite fond of the mode. On top of that, some believe it should stick around forever and most of the community seems to agree. One Redditor said, “I completely agree, it’s loads of fun. Probably the best game mode released to date.”While another added, “I have had a ton of fun in Rebirth solos.” Since Rebirth was released, players have wanted to see some sort of solo mechanic added to the mode and this update has provided just that. Fans chimed in with how well it fits in with the map, saying they “really hope it stays.” However, the Warzone community and Raven Software have an odd relationship when it comes to playlists. Numerous times the devs have taken out popular modes to fans’ dismay. So, there’s no telling if the solo BR will stick around as the playlist is constantly undergoing change.

Warzone players praise major Rebirth Island changes finally coming in Season 2 Reloaded ActivisionWarzone players are delighted as the upcoming Season 2 Reloaded update brings some major changes to freshen up Rebirth Island, which has become wildly popular since the Vanguard integration. Rebirth Island was introduced to Warzone alongside the Cold War integration and, while it always played second fiddle to Verdansk, the change to Caldera has seen a lot of players switch over to Rebirth and show it the love it’s always wanted. With the map becoming way more popular in recent months, developers Raven Software made some huge plans for it — and there’s major change coming. With new modes, map updates, POI changes and added features, there’s a lot coming, and players are clearly excited. Warzone players plead with Infinity Ward to add simple HUD feature – Dexerto
Warzone players plead with Infinity Ward to add simple HUD feature Infinity WardWarzone players have put forward a simple suggestion that could make a world of difference throughout Infinity Ward’s battle royale title. While Warzone offers a solo playlist for individual players to drop in and be the last one standing, the chaotic Call of duty battle royale often shines brightest with bigger squads. However, if you’re looking for that cooperative experience while matchmaking into random teammates, you may be left disappointed. A lack of communication from your partners could ruin the entire run. This vital suggestion from the Warzone community looks to help alleviate that gripe with a simple tweak. Communication is key when it comes to knowing the whereabouts of your teammates, their loadout, how much health they have remaining, and so much more. But a quick and painless change to Warzone’s Heads-Up Display (HUD) could make things much simpler for everyone involved. Rather than having to go through the motions of asking whether your allies have armor, for instance, there’s now an easier solution. Where pertinent information is displayed in the bottom left corner of the screen, Reddit user ‘Notifyd’ asked for Infinity Ward to insert a few additional icons. New icons underneath the health bars could be used to display Gas Masks, Armor Plates, and plenty of other items. This would help players quickly assess the state of their teammates, and just how they can assist in any given situation. In the midst of a fight, you could drop armor for your friends without even asking if they’re in need. All thanks to a tiny yet game-changing icon. “Could easily fit a uav or cluster symbol there too,” Reddit user ‘BenzoClaymore’ chimed in. Further expanding the simple HUD improvements to cover Killstreak icons as well. “Each night it’s me spam pinging armor plates when I have 5 or a gas mask when I have one and we find another,” ‘TheRealMrTrueX’ added. “This would be such an easy UI addition, let us see the basics of our squads inventory.” While the quality of life improvement certainly has the backing of the Warzone community, Infinity Ward is yet to address the matter. There’s no telling if a similar feature was already in the works at Infinity Ward, but it’s clear that Warzone players would greatly benefit from the additional information in-game.

Warzone players plead for sniper buff after seeing Kar98k damage downgrade – Dexerto
Warzone players plead for sniper buff after seeing Kar98k damage downgrade Sniper rifles used to dominate Warzone at the peak of their power, but the Season 4 update made assault rifles the go-to class. Warzone players are demanding a class-wide to close the gap. Warzone players recently claimed that sniper rifles are “useless” after the Season 4 Update. Raven Software increased a few one-shot kill distances for snipers in the Season 3 update and increased bullet velocity by 4% for the KAR98k, Type 99, and 3-Line Rifle in the June 30 update. The June 30 update also nerfed the NZ-41, but some Warzone fans still claim that the NZ-41 is just as powerful and snipers are still inferior. Warzone fans demand sniper rifle buff Sniper rifles are a contentious topic for the game’s community and a player shared a clip on Reddit showing a 40 meter headshot not downing an enemy. The clip sparked outrage in the comments section. One user responded, “I don’t have any sniper loadouts anymore because all the Sniper Rifles suck right now. This is a huge miss by the people who manage this game.” The comment received 236 upvotes and a thread of over 70 mentions of players discussing similar struggles. Another person added, “instead, you get beamed by an NZ-41 with no recoil; how fun! At least with sniping, you had to lead your target and didn’t have such a forgiving magazine and consistent fire rate.” Raven Software decreased the NZ-41’s recoil recovery by 20% in the June 30 update. The developers stated, “recoil recovery is the speed in which the screen returns to the center after firing each shot. This change results in a noticeable difference in recoil intensity for the NZ-41.” As shown above, Call of Duty players are unsatisfied with the change, and fewer are equipping snipers.

Warzone players plead for devs to copy Apex Legends aim assist nerfs – Dexerto
Warzone players plead for devs to copy Apex Legends aim assist nerfs DexertoUpon seeing Apex Legends remove aim flinch from all weapons and almost all Legend abilities, Warzone players want the Call of Duty development team to follow suit. Apex Legends makes a few bold changes in Season 22. Respawn have confirmed that aim assist is currently “too strong,” especially when it comes to PC players using controllers. As a result, they’re reducing it’s strength by 25%. And players were ecstatic, when the devs also announced that aim flinch is almost entirely removed. This means players will be able to maintain their aim on an enemy regardless of whether they are receiving opposing fire. This is also an inadvertent nerf to controllers, as aim assist helped with the flinch and recoil. Some CoD players are envious and want that change to be made in Warzone as well. IceManIsaac claimed, “Actions like this will bring back massive amounts of MnK (mouse and keyboard) players who have given up on Warzone after years playing absurd AA and visual recoil. It also increases the skill gap for controller players.” Professional Warzone player HusKerrs responded, “I still firmly believe they can find just the right nerf to aim assist that’ll increase the aiming skill gap overall and make those close-range engagements with KBM (keyboard and mouse) players more balanced while the 90% casual player base doesn’t even notice it.” Fellow battle royale competitor Swag disagreed with IceManIsaac and said, “Tweaking on this one lol.” IceManIsaac pushed back and argued that “countless” mouse and keyboard players like streamers Shroud and Summit1G will never play Warzone because of how strong aim-assist is for controller players. However, most community members in the comment section agreed aim flinch doesn’t belong in Warzone. Warzone content creator TheTacticalBrit added, “This is the way forward. Warzone will forever be devoid of a skill gap without meaningful mechanics changes to AA, hotboxes and hit reg/servers.” It’s unclear if Raven Software or any Call of Duty development teams have plans to address aim flinch in future titles. Modern Warfare 3 improved visual recoil from its predecessor, but players want the devs to go one step further.

Warzone players plan boycott following Activision Blizzard lawsuit – Dexerto
Warzone players plan boycott following Activision Blizzard lawsuit ActivisionA number of Warzone players are planning a mass boycott of the game after it was revealed that California is taking legal action against Activision Blizzard, in a show of solidarity with the company’s mistreated employees. The gaming giants, who have published some of the world’s biggest titles with Call of Duty, Overwatch, World of Warcraft, and more in their inventory, are facing serious criticism from the wider community. With the company being described as having a “pervasive frat boy culture” in the lawsuit from the State of California, many workers, fans, and partners of the company have taken a stand against the treatment of some, mainly female, employees. On top of that, a number of players have vowed to stop playing Activision Blizzard games or take a break from them, and it looks like Warzone players might be planning to do the same en masse. We’ve already seen former employees give scathing insights into their time with the company, as well as CEO Bobby Kotick admitting that their response to the backlash was “tone-deaf”, but this could really hit them where it hurts. A Reddit post from Jaszs has called for players to “really consider not buying anything from the shop (battle pass included),” saying that ”Activision Blizzard must pay for what they’ve done.” The post itself has received over 1000 upvotes, with multiple awards from fellow Warzone players in agreement with the idea of boycotting the store. “Based on what’s going on, I really think those guys don’t deserve anything from us,” Jaszs explained. “You can even keep playing the game if you want, just don’t spend any money in their store.” Others agreed and expressed their support. “Yeah, I’m not spending a dime,” said one fan. “I’m done with them bro. Every day there is worse news,” added another. With loads of comments clearly in agreement with the sentiment, it’ll be interesting to see whether there’s any noticeable difference in Warzone’s microtransaction figures going forward.

Warzone players pick most underrated perks that should be used in Season 6 – Dexerto
Warzone players pick most underrated perks that should be used in Season 6 ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players have made some big picks when it comes to the most “underrated” and underused perks in the battle royale, with many taking High Alert as their go-to. Just like with the different weapons and equipment in Warzone, the meta around perks has shifted quite a few times as well, especially after Raven introduced two Warzone-specific perks. In the early days of the battle royale, players would run Cold-Blooded or E.O.D in slot one, Overkill or Ghost in slot two, and Amped or Shrapnel in slot three. Alternate choices like Quick Fix, Tracker, Tune Up, and Battle Hardened have also had some love, but they’ve slipped back down the popularity charts. The introduction of Combat Scout and Tempered helped shape the meta again, much to the annoyance of some players who believe its become a bit stale and boring. As a result, fans are trying to get some underused choices to rise up the ranks and receive some more love. For some, including Redditor DefunctHunk_COD, the most underrated perk in the battle royale is High Alert – the perk that lets you know when somebody has looked right at you, letting you focus your attention in that direction. According to WZRanked, it has a 2.50% pick rate currently, and players believe that is far too low. “I’ve been using high alert for months. Absolutely insane perk!” said xReUpx. “It’s perfect for solos,” added another fan.”High Alert is Godlike.” Some players also noted that they “wouldn’t leave home without it” even though the perk has landed them a few accusations about hacking from time to time. Of course, not everyone agrees with the takes. Some players believe Pointman and Kill Chain are actually more underrated given they have a 0.1% and 1.40%pick rate respectively. Players have also noted that using High Alert can be a bit wasteful given the high pick rate of Cold Blooded as a counter, and it means losing perks like Restock or Ghost. We’ll have to wait and see if the perk wins fans over though and if its pick rate continues to rise.

Warzone players pick Caldera over Verdansk in surprising poll results – Dexerto
Warzone players pick Caldera over Verdansk in surprising poll results ActivisionThe expulsion of Verdansk from the Warzone universe still hurts for many long-time players, but perhaps not as much as it appears. In a public vote, Caldera has actually come out on top with the majority of players opting for Warzone Pacific’s tropical island. Have we really seen the last of Verdansk, despite Activision and Raven Software saying so? We’re not 100% sure about that. Fortnite has brought back old POIs time and time again, most recently with Tilted Towers. Apex doesn’t want to deprive its fans of content they like so the game’s four maps are placed in a healthy rotation and are never permanently consigned to the Apex vault. We’re now nearly four months removed from Verdansk and the inception of Caldera. A quick browse of Reddit, Twitter, Twitch, and many other platforms would suggest that Caldera isn’t universally liked, however, a vote says otherwise. Caldera claims the real dub? The early feeling towards Caldera’s trailers and footage was very positive. The early hands-on for streamers was a good indication that Caldera was set to fix many of the problems of its predecessor. But, the game’s first few weeks were quite disastrous as textures were a broken mess, the demon gun glitch returned, even morphing into a new form. As time went by and the games started to pile up, the consensus was that Caldera’s fights were very repetitive as the island is very open and isn’t crowded with buildings, apartment blocks, and skyscrapers like Verdansk was. To cap things off, Raven Software’s hugely hyped RICOCHET anti-cheat launched, and it’s still failing to prevent the presence of hackers and cheaters. An interesting poll was conducted by the popular Warzone Twitter page ModernWarzone, and it simply posed the question: “Which Warzone map is better?” After 71,000 votes, 51% of voters chose Caldera as the better Warzone map over Verdansk 😳 pic.twitter.com/U9zcAzOR2d — ModernWarzone (@ModernWarzone) February 8, 2022 In what is surely a surprise to many, Caldera actually took the vote by 51% to 49%. Now, this isn’t an astronomical victory, but the fact is that it’s a majority victory for Caldera. If you extrapolate the data, there’s a very good chance the majority of Warzone players actually prefer Caldera over Verdansk. Even if the vote across a million players was more like a 55% win for Verdansk for example, this still suggests that Caldera isn’t as bad it appears. If anything, it may not be the map itself that’s the problem, it’s the technical hiccups.

Warzone players overjoyed as Krampus kills hacker who bypassed anti-cheat – Dexerto
Warzone players overjoyed as Krampus kills hacker who bypassed anti-cheat ActivisionHackers have become relatively rare in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific. But, after one did manage to get past Ricochet Anti-Cheat, players were delighted to see Krampus take matters into his own, demonic hands. Few things are more satisfying than a win in Warzone. But you know what just might take the cake? Seeing a cheater lose. That was the emotion felt by the battle royale’s community after a hacker snuck past Ricochet Anti-Cheat and into Caldera. In a video shared to Reddit, the aforementioned cheater is seen trying to kill people – but with an obstacle before them. Krampus, the controversial figure who has become the bane of players’ existence, was said obstacle. The demon hunted the hacker, killing them, and forcing them into the “most satisfying” death possible. Warzone fans delighted as Krampus kills hacker As you can see in the clip, the player being spectated appears to be hacking. While Krampus hunts them, they still throw Kar98k shots at others, seemingly hitting a headshot with every single snap. But Krampus wasn’t standing for that behavior and provided some in-game anti-cheat himself. The demon beat the hacker to death and, after their self-revive, is heard roaring after them – forcing the cheater to jump away in fear and fall to their death. The original poster of the clip, ‘TylerMaillet’ called it a “satisfying” death. And others seemed to agree, with commenters calling the entire spectacle “amazing” and the like. While Krampus historically doesn’t have many fans in the CoD community during his brief stint as an NPC, things may be changing. This fight was enough to spur some appreciation for the creature’s origin story, as one commenter summarized: “In mythology, Krampus scares and beats naughty children. Today, we see it for real.”

Warzone removes Season 4’s Armored Trucks due to new invisibility glitch – Dexerto
Warzone removes Season 4’s Armored Trucks due to new invisibility glitch Activision / TreyarchDespite the near-constant complaints from pro and casual players alike, frustrations surrounding Warzone’s Cargo Trucks reached a new level with the start of Season 4. Just hours into the new update, however, and the controversial vehicle has already been removed. Cargo Trucks have been a huge point of contention in Warzone, particularly after the C4 nerfs made it rather difficult to counter them. Not only do these trucks have a sizeable health pool, they instantly down any players that happen to get in the way. While the developers nerfed the spawn rate of these overpowered vehicles in the game’s solo mode, they still run rampant in quads and trios. It was hoped that the Season 4 update would bring further adjustments to the Cargo Trucks that run rampant around Verdansk, but instead, the latest content drop managed to make things even worse. Armored Trucks could be obtained in Warzone’s regular battle royale modes at the beginning of Season 4. Naturally, the community was sent into a frenzy before they were quickly removed. Warzone Trucks continue to cause frustrations While Armored Trucks were previously only available in Warzone’s Armored Royale LTM, many players spotted them in solos and squad-based modes in Season 4. To make matters worse, they could also be upgraded with permanent UAVs, a Trophy System, even more armor, and a heat-resistant gun barrel. Even if you did manage to somehow damage one of these drivable death machines, the crew of the Armored Truck could simply repair any damage from the onboard Buy Station. “We nerfed Bertha, so get your fresh new armored Bertha on battle royal,” said Andreah2o. Armored Trucks can be upgraded in #Warzone to have an unlimited UAV amongst numerous other things. Warzone feels like an entirely new game. pic.twitter.com/uGcCkP8n39 — ModernWarzone (@ModernWarzone) June 17, 2021 It certainly felt like a strange decision, especially given how potent the regular Cargo Trucks had been in recent months. However, the decision to add Armored Trucks outside of LTMs shocked a lot players, further fueling the sentiment that Warzone’s developers don’t listen to their fans. “Millions of active monthly players and I bet not a single person wanted this s**t,” said lafleur-42. Meanwhile, another player joked that “the real Warzone meta is Activision seeing how much ridiculous s**t they can pull and still make money.” Armored Trucks removed from Warzone Season 4 due to invisibility glitch Just hours into Season 4 and Armored Trucks have since been removed from Warzone entirely. Despite frustrations due to their power, community complaints weren’t the reason Armored Trucks were removed. Instead, the powerful vehicles were scrapped due to an “ongoing issue with players becoming invisible,” Raven Software outlined in a June 18 tweet. ❗️We have pushed an update in #Warzone to remove the Armored Cargo Truck due to an ongoing issue with players becoming invisible. The Trello has ben updated. There’s still plenty of loot to find at the Satellites. It’s a fight to the death for the HARP and a free Loadout. 🛰️ https://t.co/qt0uSYGYbu — Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) June 17, 2021 There’s currently no telling just how long it may take for the issue to be resolved. Therefore, there’s no telling when Armored Trucks might return to Warzone in Season 4. The invisibility glitch is currently under investigation. As soon as it’s resolved, it’s safe to assume Armored Trucks will be back to their rampaging ways shortly after.

Warzone players outraged by lack of basic CoD feature in Plunder – Dexerto
Warzone players outraged by lack of basic CoD feature in Plunder Infinity Ward[jwplayer br5AuoVJ]At the tailend of Call of Duty: Warzone’s fourth season, the return of the game’s unique Plunder mode has suddenly shifted from appreciated to deprecated as players lament the absence of reliable kill cams. While Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is the best-selling CoD title of all time, Infinity Ward’s title has had its year plagued by complaints about developer inattention to competitive issues and the plague of hackers, which especially run rampant in higher SBMM lobbies and on PC (the game defaults to having crossplay enabled). In an issue that touches on both, players have noted that Plunder does not have killcams after each death, barring people from spectating to confirm proof of hacks. Show Schedule for Week of 7/27 ☎️MON: 10AM (CTW /w 🦁 2:05PM) 🎯TUE: 10AM (Warzone 2:00PM) 🍔WED: 10AM 🎲THR: 10AM 💤 FRI: OFFhttps://t.co/soxwQMfuiJFirst time watching a hacker in game: pic.twitter.com/fe9wqIkTNI — Dan Gheesling (@DanGheesling) July 27, 2020 Since Infinity Ward’s anti-cheat systems are unable to negate the presence of hackers entirely, the brunt of ensuring competitive integrity is often placed on players who can report suspects to help developers identify accounts worthy of investigation. But although being killed can feel suspicious, it is typically not enough evidence to prove that someone is hacking. That’s why being able to view a killcam is vital, even if you’re unable to spectate afterward because of redeployment (as is the case in Plunder). Observing a killcam enables you to both confirm how suspicious the shots were, take note of the offending player’s account name, and report them should you consider evidence concerning enough. In Plunder, kill cams are not working 100 percent of the time and that inconsistency is infuriating for players since they are left without the tools needed to ensure fair play. As colorfully noted by ‘xenoborg007’ on Reddit, “there’s zero reason for why you don’t get a kill cam for every death.” In their example, they felt like they were killed by a hacker and proceeded to continually re-engage with said cheater in an effort to see a kill cam and easily get to the report screen. Of course, we cannot verify xenoborg007’s account, but we did verify that kill cams are indeed appearing inconsistently in Plunder. It is unclear whether there is any rhyme or reason to this issue and therefore there is no way to counteract the problem. With Season 5 of Modern Warfare and Warzone launching on August 5, players will be antsy to level up their Battle Passes. Hopefully this issue is resolved by then, as the community appears to have grown increasingly frustrated with an inability to police the popular title.

Warzone players outraged as stats change protects hackers & SBMM abuse – Dexerto
Warzone players outraged as stats change protects hackers & SBMM abuse ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players have aired their concerns with the recent changes making profile stats private following the companion app drama, with some players pointing out that the change helps cheaters hide from punishment. Like many other multiplayer games, Warzone has had its issues with both hackers and skill-based matchmaking ruining the experience for some players. While they’ve both always been an annoyance, players recently discovered that some were using an app from the CoDTracker site, and another called ‘SBMMWarzone’, that helped them pick and choose their lobbies. These apps were, initially, meant to be used to root out cheaters, but it backfired and SBMM abuse became the primary use. Changes were made to the app to help quell the abuse, and Activision even made every Warzone account private so that the data couldn’t reach similar apps. However, that has caused annoyance as well. CoD YouTuber Drift0r pointed out that, given how annoying the new opt-in process is to share Warzone stats – and that it isn’t mandatory, either – players will simply choose to stay hidden. “Some of them (pro players and record holders) might not want to opt-in, or like me, might not be able too or it might take a while, which means that if anybody is cheating at a high level, either to get YouTube content or to stream tournaments, they can just opt out of all this and keep the cheating private,” he said. The YouTuber noted that, while Activision might have the data on their end and could root out cheaters, it makes it harder for the community to assist them in that fight. Other players backed up Drift0r’s concerns about the cheating and SBMM abuse, with some offering up ideas for future changes. “They’ll literally do everything except just tone down SBMM, which would mitigate all these other issues,” said one player. “There’s an elephant in the room and its name is cheating. Activision just reopened the highway for cheating. Shameful,” added another. Read More: CoD 2021 leaks: Release date & more – Others, though, took a different slant, saying: “This officially ruined the game for me. I liked having public stats. It gave me something to work towards in improving… now what’s the point since no one can see them and I have nothing to compare mine to.” As Drift0r notes, it could become a case where the opt-in process is made mandatory in the future, as it seems to a situation that is majorly in flux – given that there have been two changes in quick succession. It could also be the case that Activision decides to not do anything else, and this is their final move. Though, given the outrage from the community, that seems unlikely.

Warzone players outraged as Season 3 Reloaded update wipes settings – Dexerto
Warzone players outraged as Season 3 Reloaded update wipes settings Activision / TreyarchThe Warzone Season 3 Reloaded has reset a lot of players’ settings, forcing those affected to adjust them all over again. Warzone and Black Ops Cold War’s Season 3 Reloaded update has introduced a whole wave of exciting content for players to get into. There’s the AMP63 pistol, Verdansk map changes, new LTM, and plenty of weapon changes. While the update has been largely well-received amongst the community, a number of Warzone players have encountered a problem with their in-game settings. Numerous reports have been flooding in from disgruntled fans who have found that their settings have been completely wiped. It appears the Season 3 Reloaded update has wiped custom settings, forcing many players to adjust them all over again. Everything from the game’s controller/mouse sensitivity to graphics and FoV settings have been reset to their default options. Warzone Season 3 Reloaded custom settings wipe Just like any FPS game, having graphics and sensitivity settings that you adjust to your liking is particularly important. This is especially true in Warzone where quick reactions, hearing footsteps, and spotting out potential threats can give you a huge advantage. Unfortunately, it appears that the Season 3 Reloaded update has completely wiped many players’ settings. Read More: Best LC10 Warzone class loadout – “I had to re-do all my settings when I opened up the game,” says Finch2090. “Now I’ve no idea what my settings were before. I don’t know how to get my old controller settings either.” It’s not just Finch who has been having this problem as loads of Warzone players have booted up the game, only to find that their settings have changed. Some have even noted that they needed to redownload all the game’s high-resolution texture packs, a process that can take a long time to complete. “Same, updated and I had to reset my screen brightness slider,” writes RamboLovesMambo. I even had to adjust the border on TV and all my controller settings were gone.” Settings issue mainly impacts PS4/PS5 players Everything from Warzone’s audio settings, controller binds, sensitivity, brightness, and FoV settings have been reset for many console players. However, the problem doesn’t seem to be affecting those on PC. “I’m on PC and didn’t notice much change myself,” says Lagreflex. “But a mate on PS4 had words to say when I logged on last night.” While there has yet to be an official fix for this issue, zhenface has found a fix that enables players to access their custom settings. “I had the same problem! Just stick with the default settings until you get into the playlist, then go into settings. It is still there, just not at the start up for some reason.” Whether Activision will fix this problem in a future update remains to be seen, but for now, be sure to use zhenface’s fix if you encounter the settings wipe yourself.

Warzone players outraged as Recon Contracts spawn in impossible to reach locations – Dexerto
Warzone players outraged as Recon Contracts spawn in impossible to reach locations ActivisionWarzone players have access to Recon Contracts as a method to earn extra cash to spend at buy stations but they’re outraged as these are spawning in impossible-to-reach locations. When players drop into Verdansk they can find different types of contracts that spawn with ground loot. While there are different variations, each of them grants weapon XP, regular XP, and more in-game cash based on the amount a player completes. However, Warzone fans are really frustrated as Recon Contracts are spawning out of the map and are unable to be completed. Warzone players annoyed as Recon Contracts spawn out of map Recon Contracts are a great method for Warzone players that want to earn quick and easy cash. To complete one, a player must pick up the contract, go activate the device, and then stand in it until it’s captured. Read More: How to watch Warzone Twitch Rivals $75K Warzone Iron Trials Showdown: Stream, schedule, format – Reddit user, ‘Jetpere’ is one of many to post a video of this frustrating encounter with Recon Contracts. There is something going on with the spawns, as once players accept these contracts they are appearing in places that cannot be reached. As seen in the clip, the player is running to the next location to complete the contract and earn $2,340. However, when they get into the building they notice that the recon box is on top of a chandelier they can’t get to. In another Reddit thread, a second player finds one in the top of a tree, which once again can’t be activated. This is costing players extra money that they can be earning, and is something that has been going on for quite some time. It is unknown why this only occurs randomly, with no word on when Activision will patch this annoying bug.

Warzone players once again demand firing range with Vanguard integration – Dexerto
Warzone players once again demand firing range with Vanguard integration ActivisionWarzone players are once again demanding a firing range be added to the Call of Duty battle royale hit when the Vanguard integration brings new map Caldera into the fold. One common complaint from Warzone players has always been the lack of a firing range. Both its biggest competitors, Fortnite and Apex Legends, feature modes or areas for players to test out new weapons and different strategies — but Warzone has failed to follow suit. Instead, most players find themselves having to drop into other modes, such as Plunder, to try out their builds. Now, though, with major changes on the way with Warzone Pacific, players are setting demands once again. Warzone player Chillenge posted a hypothetical screenshot of how the Warzone firing range could look, asking for the feature to come. They asked: “Since we are getting a major update at Dec [sic] and Plunder will be gone for a while, can Raven please add a firing range into WZ so that we can test our guns and loadout before dropping into a real match?” Adding that “this feature has been missing since launch,” it’s clearly something Chillenge feels strongly about and believes should have been in since the start. Interestingly, Vanguard devs did include a firing range in their 2017 CoD entry World War 2, so it’s not something they’ve avoided in the past. Whether this is something they can integrate into Warzone Pacific — or if they even want to — is another question entirely. Warzone devs Raven have never made comment on the possibility of a firing range in the game, so for now, players like Chillenge might have to keep holding out hope.

Warzone players now using Ukrainian Operator to show solidarity in-game – Dexerto
Warzone players now using Ukrainian Operator to show solidarity in-game ActivisionWhile Call of Duty: Warzone doesn’t have a Ukrainian flag Calling Card, players have found a different way to show in-game solidarity. In a growing movement, they’re returning to one of the game’s launch skins: Yegor. There are a number of flag Calling Cards you can use to show national pride in Warzone, but some countries are left off of that list. Ukraine is one such country, which has disappointed players who want to show solidarity with its people. So, politically inspired gamers have found a different way to show support. They’ve gone all the way back to a Modern Warfare 2019 Operator, Yegor, who’s described as a Ukrainian national in-game. In a Reddit post that’s gotten over 1,500 upvotes and hundreds of comments in less than a day, ‘stefbeukers’ told players about the skin: “Since there is no Ukrainian calling card: you can run an Ukrainian operator to show a little support.” Warzone players use Ukrainian Operator to show solidarity While you might not be able to tell Yegor is Ukrainian just from his shirtless presence, the in-game files confirm his nationality. As the game details, Yegor Novak was born in Ukraine in 1986, decades before joining forces with Captain John Price and Kyle “Gaz” Garrick in 2019. Since joining the game as a playable Operator with MW19, he has received over 22 skins – giving players options if they don’t want to go shirtless. In the comments, many were quick to appreciate stefbeukers’ intentions. One user replied “thanks comrade,” while another said they “would love to see lobbies full of shirtless Yegor.” Of course, some have also lashed out at the idea – sarcastically laughing at these “real activists” and saying that they “understand the sentiment, but this seems highly useless.” Regardless of how you feel about performative activism, using the skin simply accomplishes what beukers mentioned: it’s “to show a little support.” If you want to do so and don’t already have Yegor unlocked, you can likely buy one of his skins from the in-game Operator menu.

Warzone players not impressed with “dollar store” Attack on Titan Levi skin – Dexerto
Warzone players not impressed with “dollar store” Attack on Titan Levi skin ActivisionThe long-awaited Attack on Titan bundle has finally been revealed in Warzone and Vanguard, featuring an operator skin that resembles fan-favorite character Levi Ackerman. But fans are disappointed that the devs opted not to create the anime icon his own operator, calling the skin released an “embarrassment.” Ever since the release of CoD Vanguard and its integration into Warzone, rumors have been swirling about the possibility of popular anime and manga Attack on Titan crossing over into the game. With the release of the Season 1 mid-season update, the news was finally confirmed. Available on January 20, fans have had their first look at the Attack on Titan Tracer Pack. It contains everything from a Wings of Freedom Survey Corps emblem, to the signature Titan-killing blade as a Weapon Blueprint. However, after weeks of excitement, many players have said they are seriously let down by the bundle, particularly the Operator skin resembling Levi Ackerman. When CoD have pulled off crossovers in the past, such as Rambo or Die Hard, the characters included have been awarded their own Operator. The latter, for example, brought John McClane into Warzone, featuring the likeness of Bruce Willis. With this latest AoT collaboration, however, the team decided not to release a new Operator, but a skin to equip to an existing one. The Survey Corps skin can be applied to Daniel Yatsu, allowing him to wear the iconic Scouts jacket, as well as Levi’s telltale scarf. This has left Attack on Titan fans “immensely disappointed,” as Reddit user LegionOfGrixis expressed in a post. The feeling in the community seems to be that having a character dressed as Levi that doesn’t share his likeness makes it feel like a cheap, knockoff version. “I just don’t understand why with every other crossover (Scream, Die Hard, Rambo, that superhero guy), they used an original texture to create the operator,” said one reply. “Why they wouldn’t do that with Levi? I was so damn hyped for this skin and this looks like a dollar store remake.” “Well, this was the one bundle I was looking forward to buying… and I guess I won’t be anymore,” said another. “What a f*****g embarrassment this is lol.” It’s worth the noting that description for the bundle on the Call of Duty blog doesn’t specify that the skin is supposed to be Levi himself. Instead, it says that Daniel Yatsu will be “fashioned in the style of Survey Corps gear worn by Captain Levi.” However, given that previous crossover characters were given the full treatment, and the Tracer Pack is named the Levi Edition Bundle, anime fans are clearly disappointed that the man himself didn’t make his way to Caldera.

Warzone players need sunglasses to use a “broken” sniper with hilarious scope – Dexerto
Warzone players need sunglasses to use a “broken” sniper with hilarious scope ActivisionWarzone players have been blinded by an outright “broken” scope on the 3-Line Rifle as a particular ground loot Blueprint randomly turns up the brightness. The Warzone community has had to put up with a fair share of game-breaking issues since the latest update. From weapons not working as intended to Operator skins actually making the game harder, it’s been an uphill battle these past few weeks. While certain issues could be resolved in the upcoming Season 2 Reloaded patch, the list of problems appears to be growing by the day. Amusingly enough, the most glaring bug of them all, quite literally, has just surfaced. Players now have to deal with ground loot attacking their retinas. A particular 3-Line Rifle Blueprint should be avoided at all costs unless you happen to game with your sunglasses on. The ‘Krewe Leader’ sniper rifle Blueprint in Warzone comes equipped with a 1913 Variable 4-8x Optic. While all looks fine on the surface, it’s this unique scope that’s been causing headaches across Caldera. Upon picking this weapon up and trying to scope in, the game’s brightness randomly changes. Even when indoors, the screen heats up and glare becomes near-impossible to deal with. “I feel like I’m being flash banged while I’m staring at the sun,” one player joked after noticing the issue during a recent session. Even with its rarity, the Blueprint appeared to make their run more of a challenge than anything. Currently, there’s no way of resolving the issue in-game. Your only option is to leave this sniper rifle on the ground until a future hotfix is deployed. As it stands, Warzone’s devs aren’t yet on the case for this particular glitch, according to the official Trello board. Therefore, it’s unclear exactly when this visual problem will be patched out of the game for good. We’ll be sure to keep you posted if a temporary solution is found in the coming days. In the meantime, your best bet is simply to avoid the Krewe Leader Blueprint whenever you stumble upon it in Warzone.

Warzone players mock the “dumbest perk” in CoD history – Dexerto
Warzone players mock the “dumbest perk” in CoD history ActivisionWarzone perks are a huge part of the core gameplay and one, in particular, is leaving fans of the game continually frustrated with how overpowered and “insane” it is in Warzone Pacific matches. Despite still trying to regain the popularity it had well over a year ago, Warzone is currently experiencing one of its brightest seasons for a long time. With a fairly balanced meta being helped by subtle tweaks and the addition of the well-liked Fortune’s Keep map, Warzone is in a good spot heading towards Modern Warfare 2. Some of its recent good work is being overshadowed though as one of the game’s newer perks is continuing to frustrate players and leave kills out on the table. CoD Warzone perk is “insane” Since its introduction, there has been plenty of controversy and debate about the Serpentine perk as it seems to be a hugely beneficial ability to equip, with very little in the way of consequences, and it’s made getting kills even harder in Warzone. In the battle royale, Serpentine “reduces incoming damage from bullets, explosives, and fire by 20% while sprinting” and it can mean that no matter how dialed in you are in with your shots, the enemy you’re firing at will escape. A Reddit post titled “Think like the snake… *become* the snake. this perk is insane” showed off a clip of a players unloading a 60-round mag, clearly hitting a ton of those shots on a mobile player, only to be denied by Serpentine. Comfortably the top-rated comment said: “That’s the dumbest perk in the Hissssss-tory of cod,” which, aside from its clever play on words, also delivered a strong statement about the community’s feelings towards Serpentine. There’s also a suggestion by many that Combat Scout is also a bit too OP, but it can at least be countered and has extremely viable competition in that perk slot. As for Serpentine, another Reddit user had this to say: “I get it here, but when I’m in the same room as someone and I’m shooting them from 10 feet away with an SMG, they shouldn’t be able to escape because of this perk.” The discussion about Serpentine’s effects will inevitably continue to rage on. As with lots of things, we’ll have to see if Raven believes the perk is overperforming.

Warzone players mock Double-Barrel ‘nerf’ as Shotguns are still way too good – Dexerto
Warzone players mock Double-Barrel ‘nerf’ as Shotguns are still way too good ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone matches are still being subjected to endless Double-Barrel Shotgun abuse. The OP weapon has had its effectiveness reduced by Raven Software, but clearly not enough as they’re still monstrously powerful. As we’ve seen a few times previously, Raven Software have dropped a nerf on a popular gun, and it’s not done much. Players from the Cold War and Warzone integration will remember the horrors of “DMRzone,” and how it took several nerfs to stop players using the DMR. It’s happened with a few other guns since, and the latest culprit is the Akimbo Double-Barrel Shotguns from Vanguard. The January 7 Warzone update was supposed to address the guns’ reign of terror. However, a few examples have surfaced showing that they’re still as deadly as ever. Maintaining a balanced meta can be difficult for a game like Warzone, especially with over 100 guns and tons of attachments making for a staggering number of possibilities. But, when one gun steps up and starts to dominate it’s very noticeable. After weeks of complaints, the Shotguns were finally supposed to be fixed with the new update, but a couple of Reddit posts have shown this not to be the case. One post featured a quick and to-the-point video highlighting that the guns still possess obscene range and firepower. Double-Barrel Shotguns are still running wild in Warzone The killcam proved that the parachuting player was instantly one-shotted by the guns at mid-range. One of the users simply said: “Lmfao, all you can do is laugh.” But if that wasn’t bad enough, a rather humorous and sarcastic post titled “I think the Double-Barrels may need another “incremental” adjustment,” demonstrated their group-killing potential.

Warzone players mindblown by wallbang spot through thick concrete – Dexerto
Warzone players mindblown by wallbang spot through thick concrete ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players are always having to face danger as they seek to claim a Warzone Victory in Caldera and Rebirth Island. But a new danger has been discovered that makes the most obvious cover illusory. It seems that every so often there is something completely unexplainable in Warzone that boggles the mind of players. From game-breaking wallhacks to players getting underneath Caldera’s map and killing people illegally. But now, Raven Software have a new problem to overcome as some of the battlefields they’re providing aren’t what they appear. Meaning, shots that would otherwise cannon off of solid surface are killing players unorthodoxly. Wallbang Warzone strikes again When you’re in the middle of a firefight, or it’s one-way fire and you’re desperately trying to seek some solace behind cover to regroup, plate up, or reload, the last thing you need is the concrete wall protecting you actually being as thick as a piece of paper. This is the case, at present, for Warzone’s Rebirth Island AKA Alcatraz. As JosieLinkly found out the hard way, thick concrete walls on the island don’t mean anything, literally. Josie had just dropped back in, managed to score a quick kill, and quickly realized that they were under fire from afar. They went prone behind the concrete pillar in front of them, obviously looking for some respite. Instead, they were dropped dead in an instant and sent packing. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen something like this before in Warzone and it begs the question how many spots there are like this in either Caldera or Alcatraz.

Warzone players mindblown as ADS invisibility glitch makes aiming impossible – Dexerto
Warzone players mindblown as ADS invisibility glitch makes aiming impossible ActivisionWarzone players have been dealing with invisible glitches for quite some time but now it’s taking on guns and making it impossible to aim while aiming down the sights (ADS). Since the beginning of Warzone, the battle royale has been plagued with various editions of invisible glitches. While the Pacific update tried to limit the number of issues that the game has, players have still been running into these game-breaking bugs. With updates hitting the game, glitches are bound to be discovered. This latest one is actually taking weapons right out of the operator’s hands. Warzone players baffled by invisible ADS glitch When Raven Software said they would be altering how ADS works in Warzone, turning a weapon invisible while tracking them probably isn’t what they had in mind. In a Reddit post by ‘lookmaimonthereddit’ the player is left speechless as they try to secure a kill. However, they find it extremely difficult when they encounter a glitch. As seen in the video, the player is firing at an enemy while aiming down their sights. Suddenly, their gun just vanishes into thin air, invisible to the eye. Even though the Bren is still shooting, it is basically impossible for the player to aim at the opponent that is trying to run away. Players were losing their mind watching this and made some jokes out of this due to some recent changes in the mid-season update. “Didn’t you read patch notes? They nerfed Bren.” While Warzone devs did nerf the Bren to try and move the meta, it seems they have taken it a step further and made the gun unusable with this glitch.

Warzone players loving Season 2’s new Apex Legends-esque Redeploy Balloons – Dexerto
Warzone players loving Season 2’s new Apex Legends-esque Redeploy Balloons Activision / Respawn EntertainmentCall of Duty: Warzone has been taking inspiration from Apex Legends and Season 2’s new Redeploy Balloons are living proof. That’s turned out to be a good idea, as players are seriously enjoying their addition. Apex Legends is a beloved battle royale for its MOBA-esque hero mechanics and its mobility. An obvious example of that mobility would be the game’s jump towers, which are marked by red balloons and allow players to boost into the sky for serious vertical repositioning. With Apex overtaking Warzone on Twitch in recent months and players complaining about traveling around Caldera’s big, often sparse map – the devs saw a two-birds-one-stone opportunity. As part of the Pacific Season 2 update, Warzone has added its own Redeploy Balloons to Caldera. They’re basically the same as Apex’s towers, but that similarity isn’t stopping gamers from enjoying them. Warzone players loving “insanely nice” Redeploy Balloons Season 2 of Warzone is easily the best update this game has ever seen. The PDS things go crazy, the redeploy balloons are insanely nice, just everything. W — bread (@bbreadmanW) February 14, 2022 Reacting to the new patch, streamer ‘bbreadman’ was very enthused. He called Season 2 “the best update this game has ever seen” and the Redeploy Balloons “insanely nice.” JGOD also seemed into the addition, saying it’s “good” they took the feature from Apex and that the Balloons will “definitely change things in Warzone.” Proving his point, streamers like ZLaner are already pulling off formerly impossible plays with the new jump spots. Warzone Redeploy Balloons already used for monster plays “”These new balloons are SICK!””@ZLaner already showing off with Warzone’s new Redeploy Balloons 🎈pic.twitter.com/75tBx4WbCN — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) February 15, 2022 Using a Redeploy Balloon between Peak and Fields, ZLaner was able to defy gravity and ascend into the skies for an impromptu ambush. Even he couldn’t contain himself as he wiped a squad: “That was badass!” The new feature is considered one of Apex’s best-balanced mechanics since you can easily be shot down while flying, which makes repositioning with them a high-risk, high-reward enterprise. As Z explained, though, they’re definitely worth that gamble: “These new Balloons are sick!”

Warzone players loving Caldera Clash so much they want it on Rebirth Island – Dexerto
Warzone players loving Caldera Clash so much they want it on Rebirth Island ActivisionWarzone Season 2 brought a new version of the Clash game mode to Caldera, and players are enjoying it so much they think it would be perfect on Rebirth Island. When the new era of Warzone dropped, Caldera Clash was introduced to the game. This deathmatch LTM took aspects of the classic battle royale and mixed it with 50v50 mayhem. It’s a race to 450 points, which can be earned in various ways. While the mode is currently only on Caldera, players feel that this would be even more fun on Rebirth. Rebirth Island is already chaotic enough as it is the smallest map in Warzone and can have multiple respawns. However, players want to add to the pandemonium. Warzone players want Caldera Clash on Rebirth A Reddit post by ‘astrala’ discusses how great Caldera Clash has been in its short history and why it would be perfect for the fast-paced map. While the community pushes for it to stay as a permanent mode, others have a specific vision for its future of it. One Redditor said, “you know, I’d like to see clash on Rebirth Island.” This would create a non-stop action experience where players are constantly getting into fights. Another person seconded the idea and even thinks the chaos would be fun. “I agree that clash would do well on rebirth, it would be pretty chaotic too.” It could serve as Warzone’s version of the multiplayer map Shipment, which is extremely wild with constant fighting. While this may not be something that the devs had in mind, it could be something that they want to keep in mind as the community is saying “that would be fun.”

Warzone players left stumped by unreal one-hit melee kill ability – Dexerto
Warzone players left stumped by unreal one-hit melee kill ability ActivisionThe Warzone community has been left stumped as shocking one-hit melee kills have become all too common. But are they an intended feature or a devastating bug? Here’s what we know. No different from any other Call of Duty title, Warzone allows you to fight with your fists when up close. If you’re without a weapon, it can be a great way to secure a sneaky kill. Not only that, but you can quickly finish off a wounded enemy with the right timing. In Warzone, however, melee kills aren’t as easy to come by. On top of the standard 100HP, players also have armor to sustain a few extra hits. If you’re trying to down a fully armored enemy, it’s going to take a good four or five hits. While that’s the standard, players have recently been left stunned by a confusing one-hit melee ability. Completely bypassing the normal damage output, this punch is a one-touch knockout. “Can anyone explain this?” Reddit user ‘callohh’ asked on February 7. With full health and full armor at the beginning of a match, they were sent straight to the Gulag in a single hit. No exceptional reaction times or powerful weaponry could have countered it. The single blow would have knocked anyone down in that moment, but how did it actually happen? The likely explanation is that it’s just another bug on Warzone’s ever-growing list. After all, if one-hit melees were a legitimate Warzone feature, wouldn’t we see them more often? But could there be a proper way to achieve a king-hit without breaking the game? While nothing is confirmed, this knockout blow could have come as a result of a combo-system under the hood in Warzone. With each consecutive melee hit, the damage only increases, according to a few players in the comments below. If that’s the case, then the rapid melees leading to this one-hit-kill only charged up the final strike. Critical hits will always deal more damage, and it appears as though Warzone’s melee can deal critical damage as well. If multiple enemies are close together, this could now be a viable option if true. Obviously, it’s going to take some testing to prove the method, however. But if you’re dropped in a single hit during your next game, this could be the reason why.

Warzone players left baffled after recent update massively buffs vehicle health – Dexerto
Warzone players left baffled after recent update massively buffs vehicle health ActivisionWarzone Pacific players have expressed frustration and concern with the game after the most recent update – introduced on March 2 – appears to have completely broken vehicle health and damage. Warzone players are becoming all too accustomed to updates breaking other aspects of the battle royale, with each path introduced by Raven seemingly undoing as many fixes as it introduces. That, again, appears to be the case with the recently introduced March 2 update. The patch, which introduced a plethora of changes in the Vanguard Royale game mode, also seems to have completely broken vehicle health; in some cases making them near impossible to destroy. Highlighted in a Reddit post by player ‘fletchthe2nd‘, they claim that destroying a helicopter in Warzone now takes an incredible amount of ammunition. “6 rockets, 2 C4 [and] 5 LMG rounds needed to destroy a helicopter,” they said. “I know they buffed player health but what is going on with the vehicle damage since the update?” Attached was a clip showing how difficult it now is to destroy a helicopter, with many echoing the OP’s sentiment that the changes must be unintentional. Previously, a helicopter could be destroyed with one accurate C4 or a well-placed rocket shot. Now, players in helicopters cannot realistically be eliminated unless a whole team bands together to take them down. Plenty of other Warzone players responded to say they had experienced similar problems with vehicles since the March 2 update. They also indicated that it is affecting all vehicles, not just helicopters. One said: “I posted a clip of this too where I blew up two C4s on my car and it didn’t do anything to it.” As of the time of writing, Raven have not addressed the changes to vehicle health but, with fans unhappy and vehicles offering unprecedented protection, we can hope for a swift patch in the coming days.

Warzone players lash out over “broken” melee damage – Dexerto
Warzone players lash out over “broken” melee damage Infinity WardWarzone’s melee damage has come under fire as players pinpoint “broken” discrepancies that could knock armored enemies down in just two hits. With 150 players dropping into Verdansk, it can be quite easy to get in close proximity with enemy squads. While SMGs and Shotguns should be the go-to tools for close-quarters combat, “broken” melee damage stands out in Warzone. There are a number of ways to inflict melee damage in the battle royale. From Riot Shield hits to unarmed punches. However, there’s a wild variation in damage that has some players calling for a major balance update. You may have noticed that meleeing has become more and more prominent throughout Season 3 of Warzone. There’s a good reason for the surge in popularity, as players have uncovered that it can often be more effective than any weapon from up close. Hitting a fully armored enemy will only take two successive gun melee attacks. Even a fast-firing SMG from point-blank range can’t compete with that lightning-quick melee speed, as competitive Call of Duty icon Seth ‘Scump’ Abner found out the hard way during a June 2 stream. It can often be more beneficial to prioritize closing the gap instead of finding early-game loot. “Melee is absolutely broken,” one player said. “More times than not, you can rush and melee twice before they can get off enough shots to down you.” However, melee damage differs greatly across the board. It takes two melee hits with a weapon to down an armored opponent in Verdansk. Yet in the Gulag, it also takes two hits with a weapon to kill an unarmored enemy. There’s no explanation as to why melee damage is so steep to begin with. Nor why it varies in different circumstances. If you’re wielding a Riot Shield or approaching an enemy unarmed, it could even take up to five melee hits to down them. Even some designated melee weapons such as the Knife, still take two hits. Should two melee hits with a weapon be enough to down a fully armored enemy? Why is damage the same with a random weapon than it is with a dedicated melee tool? These are all questions the community has been pondering of late and thus far, Infinity Ward is yet to respond. With Season 4 delayed, perhaps a sweep of balance changes will come with the next major update. Until then, be wary of enemies getting up close. You could be knocked down in the blink of an eye.

Warzone players label Heroes vs Villains as ‘dumbest event ever’ – Dexerto
Warzone players label Heroes vs Villains as ‘dumbest event ever’ ActivisionWarzone Season 5’s Heroes vs. Villains event received harsh criticism from community members, and players now believe it’s rigged. Warzone Season 5 introduced a new LTM titled Heroes vs. Villains. Players earn Faction Tokens by killing enemies and looting crates around the map. Tokens can be exchanged to help the Heroes or Villains team, and the winning faction will be announced on September 14. By earning Faction Tokens and accumulating points, players earn rewards such as a weapon blueprint, melee weapon, and weapon charm. Popular streamer Dr Disrespect blasted Warzone developers over the event, stating, “just the concept of these, you know. How does that ever make it out of the boardroom.” After three weeks, Warzone players are starting to see why the Two Time was baffled by Raven Software’s lackluster LTM. Warzone players slam Heroes vs Villains LTM A Warzone player created a Reddit thread, confused over how the Heroes team took the lead in the LTM voting after trailing. A fellow player responded, “Yeah, this is all predetermined. Dumbest f**king event ever.” Several players praised Hunting of Verdansk as the last great Warzone event. Activision turned the lights off and released a nighttime version of Verdansk. The LTM also added zombies for Warzone’s first time. Putting on their tinfoil hat, a second player stated, “The way they framed it, if the Villains won, they would destroy Caldera. And I suppose they wanted to avoid that.” A third user added, “It’s not predetermined; hero tokens have twice the value as villain tokens; that’s what happened.” Warzone players are unsatisfied with the Hero’s colossal comeback and are even less pleased with the event’s premise.

Warzone players label Al Bagra Fortress “worst resurgence map in COD history” – Dexerto
Warzone players label Al Bagra Fortress “worst resurgence map in COD history” ActivisionAl Bagra Fortress Resurgence finally went live in Season 5 Reloaded, but Warzone community members aren’t impressed with the final product. Activision marketed Al Bagra Fortress Resurgence as its headliner for Season 5 Reloaded, but a miscommunication spoiled the party. Warzone players couldn’t believe their eyes as they logged on to play the latest Resurgence map, but the aforementioned playlist was nowhere to be seen. The WZ devs backtracked and “clarified” that the new Resurgence map would be released a week later instead. Flashforward to September 6, and Al Bagra Fortress’ doors finally opened to players after an unexpected wait. Unfortunately, community members were left disappointed as the map failed to meet expectations. Warzone players slam “embarrassing” new Resurgence map With the introduction of Al Bagra Fortress this marks the first time in WZ history there are four playable Resurgence maps at the same time. And the battle royale’s latest map takes a bold departure from what we are accustomed to. Rebirth Island, Vondel, Ashika Island, and Fortunes Keep all created brand-new environments geared for smaller lobby sizes. While Al Bagra Fortress is a POI on Al Mazrah, which creates issues when it comes to game flow. Warzone content creator JGOD gave his initial review of Al Bagra Fortress Resurgence. “About what I expected since it’s been on Al Mazra since Launch, but kinda odd to not just make it the Island though cause half the zone is water.” The YouTuber’s biggest complaint stemmed from half of the circle being engulfed by water. As well documented, community members are divided over the game’s swimming mechanics. JGOD suggested a solution of limiting the map to just the island, and the opinion was well received. One user responded: “This is dumb. Seems a bit lazy. Should have just made it the island itself.” A second Warzone player added: “It’s embarrassing, no excuses.” Other WZ fans weren’t caught off guard, as this is what they expected from the start. COD leaker TheGhostOfHope argued: I mean, it’s in the name. What did you expect? It’s s*it as expected.” It’s unclear if the Warzone devs have any plans of changing Al Bagra Fortress Resurgence, but first impressions certainly didn’t go as planned.

Warzone players killed through fake rocks that are totally useless cover – Dexerto
Warzone players killed through fake rocks that are totally useless cover ActivisionAll is not as it seems in Warzone Pacific as some of Caldera’s rocks are actually posing as solid cover when in actual fact they are illusory obstructions that players can shoot through. Some things in Warzone simply don’t make sense, but we just deal with them and move on. Ground loot weapons that can for some reason stun players, sure. Hackers still defying RICOCHET’s anti-cheat system to create Harry Potter-themed cars? Ok, we guess. But the map’s stationary, inanimate rocks that are supposed to be sturdy scenery turning out to be completely hollow? That’s a weird one. And yet, this is exactly what happened to one Warzone player who thought they’d taken up a good defensive position. Caldera’s rocks are questionable Reddit user dknisle1 was making their way through the trees and land of Caldera when they suddenly came under fire. So they did what any Warzone player would do and sought cover behind the nearest form of protection. It just so happened to be a giant rock. They dove to prone to try and restore some order and make sense of the situation, only, it didn’t make sense at all. Despite being well and truly behind cover, the player was still being subjected to an onslaught of enemy fire, and they were quickly gunned down in the space of a few seconds. They posed the question in the title of their video “I need someone to explain this. A rock isn’t cover?” and the top comment by a country mile simply said to the user: “You just got Warzoned.” It seems there is no reasonable explanation other than the fact that some of the rocks in Warzone Pacific’s Caldera match are not as sturdy as they appear and are rocks in name only. So the next time you are running around Call of Duty’s tropical battle royale island, think twice about where you seek cover.

Warzone players inspired by “absolute chad” Modern Warfare loadout – Dexerto
Warzone players inspired by “absolute chad” Modern Warfare loadout ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone fans are impressed by one player’s nostalgic, underrated loadout. After seeing some highlight plays, people are labeling a player’s Modern Warfare Oden and Uzi class the “absolute chad” loadout. It’s fun to get kills and wins in Warzone, this is an objective truth. But you know what makes it even more fun? Doing so with a loadout that nobody else is using because it isn’t meta. That’s precisely what Reddit’s ‘spideyjiri’ by bringing Modern Warfare’s Oden and Uzi out to Rebirth Island. The guns are two years old and have practically never been considered meta in the battle royale, but that wasn’t stopping spidey. First, they brought the Oden out in the pregame lobby. You can simply hear the satisfaction and pure delight in spidey’s voice as fakplayers reacted to the gun that downed them. Warzone player unleashes Modern Warfare Oden loadout After spidey absolutely erased someone, they responded in shock: “Oden?” A moment later, spidey killed the same person – who once again repeated, “Oden.” While spidey, and many others on Reddit, enjoyed the surprise at this non-meta loadout, some weren’t so convinced. A number of replies said “it’d be better to see in game not pre game lobby…” and spidey accepted the challenge. Warzone’s “absolute chad” Modern Warfare loadout In a new video, titled “the most UNDERRATED MW loadout,” spidey showed the unique AR and SMG combination in a real game. A number of people still discredited the class, with one saying that those kills could “have been done better with a different gun.” Nevertheless, most appreciated this loadout – which certainly goes against the grain. Amidst a variety of compliments to the Oden, one Redditor was convinced: “Alright I’ll build an Oden f**k it.” Even if the Oden and Uzi aren’t exactly meta and are less viable than other weapons, it’s nice to see people enjoying the tools they prefer. Spideyjiri may not have produced the most exhilarating highlights, but they did enough to convince players that this nostalgic, “absolute chad” loadout is worth trying out.

Warzone players infuriated by return of game-breaking stim glitch – Dexerto
Warzone players infuriated by return of game-breaking stim glitch ActivisionWarzone players are incensed after discovering that the game-breaking stim glitch is back in all its glory, letting enemies stay in the gas for unlimited amounts of time. In the latter months of 2020, Warzone was infested with the notorious stim glitch, which saw players equip a Stim Shot in their tactical slot and sit endlessly in the storm, waiting out for their opponents to die in the gas while they could endlessly keep rejuvenating health. It was absolutely infuriating for players to come up against these cheaters, and the game’s devs were forced to remove the stim shot while they sought a fix. Eventually, it was fixed, and the stim glitch existed no longer. Unfortunately, it looks as though the dreaded Stim glitch has reared its ugly head once again. It’s not yet evident how the glitch has come about again, but it seems to have returned after Warzone’s Season 2 Reloaded update hit live servers. Read More: What is Foresight in Warzone? – As you can see from Stodeh’s Twitch clip, players are once again abusing the Stim glitch, and it is becoming more and more prevalent as word spreads. It’s not evident whether the same method is used to make the stim glitch work, but regardless, we wouldn’t advise doing it. After all, if you end up being mass-reported, you may end up being banned as a result. Read More: FFAR secretly nerfed in Warzone Season 2 – As you can imagine, players aren’t happy, and have taken to social media to report the issue and complain about it — and we can’t blame them for it, either. Warzone players in disbelief over removal of battle royale Quads – Dexerto
Warzone players in disbelief over removal of battle royale Quads ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players have been left frustrated with developers Infinity Ward, following their decision to temporarily replace battle royale Quads with realism mode. Game modes have been fairly limited since Warzone’s release. Players were forced to wait a few months for Duos mode but, since the start of Season 4, there has been a noticeable inclusion of a wider variety of modes, including rumble and realism. Unfortunately, this means that some fan-favorite modes have seen temporary removals. There was criticism of the decision to remove Plunder and, following changes made on June 19, Infinity Ward have come under renewed criticism. The June 19 changes saw Realism Quads replace standard battle royale Quads, in a move that appears seriously unpopular. Realism is more akin to hardcore modes, with no HUD, minimal health and maximum damage. In other words, dying takes a split second. Among those critical of the changes was Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop, CoD caster turned YouTube streamer. “Why remove one of the staple game modes?” he asked. “We now have to kick out our 4th player? Like what… Where is the logic?” Lol why? Why remove one of the staple game modes? We now have to kick out our 4th player? Like what — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) June 19, 2020 Our 4th player is about to come back from his business call and be told we cant play the most popular playlist in Warzone so he will need to go find his own trio or we are forced to play a mode we don’t like. Where is the logic? Let me play what I love. P — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) June 19, 2020 On a similar note, Jordan ‘JKap’ Kaplan, two-time CoD World Champion, commented that he “can’t even act like I’m surprised with you guys anymore”. LMAOOOOOOOO I can’t even act like I’m surprised with you guys anymore — Jordan Kaplan (@JKap415) June 19, 2020 Other prominent Call of Duty figures to criticize the changes included Ali-A, Vikkstar, Pamaj and Maven. The latter, who casts in the Call of Duty League, even joked that he’d rather have his “toe nails peeled off than play realism”. Uhhhh please don’t cut me from the team. I’d rather have my toe nails peeled off than play realism quads. — Clint Evans (@Maven) June 19, 2020 Less than 24 hours after its removal, there have been countless calls to add the standard Quads mode back as a matter of urgency. Many have been left confused by Infinity Ward’s decision which, while being confirmed as temporary, has seen the removal of one of Warzone’s original – and most popular – battle royale game modes.

Warzone players identify perfect real-life island for a Warzone 2 resurgence map ActivisionWarzone players believe they’ve around found the perfect island in real life to become a Resurgence map in Warzone 2. Warzone 2 is due to launch on November 16 and refresh the Call of Duty battle royale title, with the new Al Mazrah map arriving alongside a number of different features. While excitement is mounting for the new game, one leak that has had players concerned is claims that there won’t be a Resurgence map in Warzone 2 until several months after launch. Pair that with rumors that Fortune’s Keep and Rebirth Island will both be removed from the current Warzone, and Resurgence players aren’t going to be feeling too optimistic. That said, it’s given players time to think about what they would want from Warzone 2 Resurgence, and one player might have found the perfect setting for it. Possible Warzone 2 Resurgence map? Butterflychunks posted an image online of Husøy, Norway, a small fishing village on an island on the northern side of the Scandinavian country, near Tromsø. Butterflychunks described it as “a fairly small island with good building coverage,” and it does look somewhat similar in shape and size to Rebirth Island, which is based on the real-life location of Alcatraz Island. The only issue Butterfly pointed out was that it lacks a main “hub” building, such as Prison on Rebirth Island, though the map could be adapted to include one if developers Infinity Ward wanted to. Husøy certainly looks like it could make a viable Resurgence map for Warzone 2, and we know that the current devs keep an eye on popular social posts from their players for things to include in the game. The question now is whether this could happen, or if the devs already have something else up their sleeve.

Warzone players hit out over constant Rebirth Island mode changes – Dexerto
Warzone players hit out over constant Rebirth Island mode changes ActivisionWarzone’s Rebirth Island has been a popular hit amongst fans since its introduction to the game in Season One. However, fans are frustrated over the constant changes to the map’s modes. For many Warzone players, Rebirth Island is the last bastion in a sea of Verdansk woes and misery. Not only does the game’s smaller map make getting kills and leveling up guns faster, but it can also make other non-meta weapons shine. The smaller engagement ranges of Rebirth’s firefights also make it the perfect place to train your all-important multi-kill skills. Combine this with the significant drop in hackers and you have a map that has quickly become a staple for many squads. Well, that’s when the developers aren’t constantly adding new modes, removing quads, and generally messing with what fans enjoy. Fans frustrated over Rebirth Island squad changes “For the love of god, Rebirth is holding the weight of this entire game on its back right now,” says LegionOfGrixis. Just have a simple toggle feature between quads and trios. That’s all they have to do!” LegionOfGrixis isn’t alone in this sentiment as many Warzone players prefer to play Rebirth over the standard Verdansk modes. Not being able to squad up with your mates because quads have been rotated out is certainly a frustrating issue, especially if you enjoy the more aggressive gunfights. A simple toggle feature would certainly alleviate this issue, while players have also suggested that they’d rather wait a little longer in the pre-game lobby to find a match. With so many players queuing up for games of Warzone around the world, it’s hard to believe that adding this simple change would fracture the game’s playerbase. “Rebirth should act like battle royale in the playlist,” says JoeyAKangaroo. “It stays forever but you can have the choice to play duos, trios, and quads 24/7.” This is definitely preferable over the current system where squads are either forced to play Verdansk if they want to play quads or simply return when the modes have rotated. Whether Activision will change the way they handle Rebirth Island’s modes remains to be seen, but for now, it looks like this frustrating issue is here to stay.

Warzone players hit out at devs over Modern Warfare MP5 nerf – Dexerto
Warzone players hit out at devs over Modern Warfare MP5 nerf ActivisionWarzone players are hitting out at the devs after the Modern Warfare MP5 received a nerf in the Season 5 Reloaded update, complaining that the game is purposely nerfing MW weapons to bolster the Cold War ones. After Season 5 launched, some players found that the 30mm rounds on the Modern Warfare MP5 had had some sort of secret buff, making them more powerful than ever before, and they quickly became more popular in Verdansk. The MP5 was always a popular pick in Warzone, but fell to the wayside with the likes of the OTs 9 and Mac 10 picking up steam in the game. Devs Raven Software obviously found some issue with the MP5’s 30mm rounds, though, and addressed it in the S5 Reloaded patch notes — and people aren’t happy. One angry customer was Regular_Phrase5251, who took to Reddit to ask “why the f*ck they are still nerfing the MW MP5.” Read More: When is Plunder coming back to Warzone? – The responses suggest that players believe Raven to be nerfing Modern Warfare weapons to buff the Cold War ones, with one even saying that they “should just say clearly they’re nerfing the MW guns because they want you to buy CW stuff.” The best argument against the nerf came from D4nzia, though, who said that the increased damage on the 30mm rounds was a direct trade-off for the lack of ammunition it supplies. This does make sense, but we’ll have to see how the gun plays out in Warzone before truly judging it. Some more weapon changes, 10mm MP5 (MW) got a nerf. I personally do not thing it was necessary, it’s a trade-off in my eyes. More ammo=weaker damage/stronger damage=less bullets. Nothing the sleight of hand couldn’t handle. 6/9 pic.twitter.com/fT9bjrmPlt — D4nzia (@d4nzia) September 9, 2021 Of course, the MW MP5 will likely still be one of the more popular SMGs in the game, though in comparison to the Cold War variant, the Mac 10 and the OTs, it might struggle to really make a huge mark on the meta.

Warzone players highlight key features Warzone 2 needs to copy – Dexerto
Warzone players highlight key features Warzone 2 needs to copy ActivisionWarzone fans have been outlining aspects of the CoD battle royale they want to carry over to Warzone 2 when it drops later in 2022, hoping Infinity Ward take note and implement popular features. Warzone fans are consoling themselves with the fact that a sequel to the immensely popular battle royale has been confirmed, set to drop in late 2022 and echo many of the features that made the original so acclaimed. However, players have now been getting into the details of features they believe must carry over to ensure Warzone 2 is as strong as possible. Warzone features players demand in Warzone 2 One Redditor started the list by saying that they want to see near a identical loadout system. Players can build classes to their specifications before matches and, using Warzone’s clever monetary system, can access the exact loadouts they designed. They compared it to Blackout, which forced players to loot random attachments and augment their weapons that way. Another common demand was to keep the game’s inventory simple and easy to follow. One player said: “The reason I can’t get into games like Apex and PUBG is because I spend too much time on inventory and not enough time playing the game.” A third demand related to movement, hoping that the game would take inspiration from 2019 Modern Warfare and its sequel, rather than Vanguard. Many players praised Infinity Ward for the fluid movement system their titles saw and hope to see it again in Warzone 2. There were also some more tongue-in-cheek suggestions which, despite the upvotes they garnered, we can’t see the devs even contemplating. One, for instance, demanded that Riot Shields are removed “forever”. Only time will tell the extent to which Warzone 2 emulates the first BR, but we can be certain that the devs will be eager to take feedback on board and ensure the player-base is content.

Warzone players heated over calls to remove “unfair” Juggernaut – Dexerto
Warzone players heated over calls to remove “unfair” Juggernaut ActivisionCall of Duty Warzone players have called on the developers of the battle royale to remove Juggernaut from normal play, but not everyone agrees. [jwplayer sEnFsekG] Since Warzone released back in March, millions of gamers have dropped into Verdansk for a game or two – experiencing the second offering of a battle royale from Call of Duty. Obviously, there are many similarities with other battle royale titles but, there are a few differences too – mainly coming in the form of killstreaks, loadout drops, and even the ability to use certain perks. Given that all of those things are available, plenty of Call of Duty staples are used, including Juggernauts. However, not everyone is a fan of the powerful character – and some even want it removed entirely from normal matches. The idea to get rid of the Juggernauts has grown through the community at times, and the newest call that has gained traction comes from Reddit user b1320s, who wants them out of Solo matches. The Redditor pointed out that, previously, the Subway Easter Egg in Warzone gave out perks and other bonuses, but now it guarantees a Juggernaut. “I’ve got back to back solo wins because of it. Super easy and super unfair. Please IW, take it out,” they commented, pleading their case to the devs. Other players, like jogdenpr, suggested that the powerful killstreak only be available in limited-time modes. “They should take it out of every mode that isn’t an LTM,” they added. On the flip side, some players disagreed and noted that if you’re prepared to come across an enemy using the Jug, you can pick them off – especially if you can fight them at long range. “I’m excited seeing a jug. So slow and that gun is horribly in accurate past like 50 meters. Easy kill,” said Roenicksmemoirs Ever since Warzone released, the devs have taken feedback on board with issues, and ironed them out. However, with Call of Duty players getting ready to cross over into Black Ops Cold War, the battle royale could be reimagined in a big way. So, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Warzone players have perfect idea for new tactical killstreak – Dexerto
Warzone players have perfect idea for new tactical killstreak Activision[jwplayer fQfYV77d]Call of Duty Warzone players have got a pretty perfect idea for a killstreak that could be added to the battle royale to put a little tactical twist on rotating through open spaces. Since releasing back in March, Warzone has quickly cemented itself among other top battle royales like Fortnite and Apex Legends while keeping its Call of Duty roots with features like killstreaks. Players were pretty wary about the introduction of killstreaks back in the early days, but since then, the airstrikes and UAVs have become a key cog in the march to victory. Though, the Cluster Strike can still be pretty annoying. As the streaks become increasingly more needed to win, players have been coming up with their own ideas for things they’d like to see added. Now, we may never see an AC-130 looming in the skies above Verdansk, but more tactical ideas could be ideal. A more tactical killstreak is exactly what Reddit user ForDaysDoe has up their sleeve with the idea of a smoke barrage. What would it do you ask? Well, it wouldn’t be like a gas grenade where it’s an offensive item that keeps enemies back, but more along the lines of a bigger smoke grenade. According to the Redditor, it could be purchasable for around $3,000/$3,500 depending on the size of the area that the smoke would cover. By throwing it down and getting a huge cloud of smoke going, you could easily cut off angles that enemies may have taken to catch you rotating in the open. Though, when you factor in potential balancing, it wouldn’t be too overpowered as a killstreak. Players could easily just bring back their thermal scopes. Plus, the huge cloud of smoke would give away their intentions pretty quickly. However, despite being a pretty ingenious idea, it’s unlikely that we see it in Verdansk. The devs are already full steam ahead, literally, on season five with the introduction of a train, new weapons, and a whole lot more.

Warzone players have one huge request for Season 5 ahead of Warzone 2 – Dexerto
Warzone players have one huge request for Season 5 ahead of Warzone 2 ActivisionFans of CoD Warzone are keen for Raven Software to honor one massive request for Warzone Season 5 that could be an absolute game-changer. With Warzone Season 4 Reloaded now well underway, it means we are on the road to Warzone Season 5, one of the final stops before Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. Activision’s battle royale shooter has been a massive success and contributed to the company’s already stellar portfolio of games, but players are desperate for the game to make one colossal change that would keep them happy. Warzone Season 5 needs Verdansk, claim players “Anyone else want Raven to bring back Verdansk for Season 5 so we can play it all one last time?” was the sentiment shared by one Reddit user – a popular question that has been asked many times since the OG map was replaced by Warzone Pacific’s Caldera. Ever since November 2021, the Warzone experience has changed for many. The launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard simultaneously signaled the end of Verdansk and ushered in the era of Caldera. The tropical setting focused less on tall buildings and murkier colors and instead brightened up things and shifted towards more open gunfights. Many players have been campaigning for the longest time for Verdansk to make its return and a new Reddit post has had plenty of fans feeling the same way. “I went from only playing Verdansk and never touching Resurgence to never touching Caldera and only playing Resurgence. I’d be so happy if they brought Verdansk back,” one player said. Another one elaborated on why Caldera hasn’t proved as popular: “Caldera is too flat and open, and all the map is the same, doesn’t matter where you are, everything looks the same and theres no variety, Verdansk had loads of different environments and you could actually choose where to go based on your weapons.” Raven Software has said before that they want nothing more than to be able to let players rotate between Verdansk and Caldera, but technical limitations prevent that. Storage Town recently made a comeback in Caldera, and there’s no doubt that bringing back the full Verdansk map would be seismic for the CoD community.

Warzone players have one big issue with The Haunting Halloween event – Dexerto
Warzone players have one big issue with The Haunting Halloween event ActivisionWarzone players are, for the most part, loving the new Haunting event. However, many of them have one big issue with it that is even affecting things outside of the game. With Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 right around the corner, many Warzone fans feared that the battle royale would forgo its typical Halloween celebrations. However, it turned out that they had nothing to worry about. The Haunting event has finally gone live in Warzone, bringing in night-time maps, boss battles right out of Diablo, and, of course, a host of new skins to fit the theme of the spooky season. While it has gone pretty well with players, there is one big aspect of the new update is really starting to cause them headaches – both literally and figuratively. And it’s something that everyone has to deal with. Warzone players furious with Halloween jump scares That issue would be the jump scares that you get when opening up crates for loot and such. Some players believe they are too invasive on the screen and ultimately too loud as well. “Makes it not enjoyable to me. Sucks too because I like the night mode and don’t mind jump scares but the volume is just stupid,” one annoyed player said. “Would be more fun otherwise.” Another added: “Please allow us to deactivate this s*it!” “I played three rounds of DMZ and I have a headache….,” another player continued. “Unnecessary how loud this is,” another commented. Others added that they’re “fine” with the jump scares in the normal battle royale but they’re making DMZ “unplayable” right now. “It makes DMZ nearly unplayable because every lootable has a chance of being a jumpscare, and there are a lot of them in this mode,” one said. Players are able to turn off the jump scares that appear in the menus, but those ones in-game are permanent. Well, at least until the Halloween event ends.

Warzone dev promises fix for lighting issues after Verdansk ’84 update – Dexerto
Warzone dev promises fix for lighting issues after Verdansk ’84 update ActivisionWarzone players called on developers Raven Software to make adjustments to the in-game weather, claiming that it has been affecting their gameplay for some time now. Days later and developers have promised a fix is on the way. Despite the battle royale’s incredible popularity, Warzone players have had common complaints since the game’s launch, generally focusing on bugs, glitches, and cheating. While Raven appears to have got on top of the former problems, they are still facing an uphill battle when it comes to banning cheaters and hackers. It also appears that, in Season 3, some players are unhappy about Warzone’s in-game weather. It’s generally very sunny in Verdansk. As a result, some players have stated that the sun makes gunfights incredibly difficult to carry out. It has even catalyzed some calls from players to permanently change the weather in Verdansk to avoid the issues. While it may not have been on their radar at first, Raven Software is now well aware of the issue. Lead Warzone VFX Artist Reed Shingledecker addressed this very article and assured that a fix is on the way. In a May 21 Reddit post, Warzone player ‘IYIonaghan’ asked “What the f**k is up with the sun in this game? Does anyone else find the sun annoying in this game? Its so f**king bright [it] makes so many fights like 5x harder because you’re almost completely blinded, is there a way to turn the brightness of it down?” A number of other players echoed their comments – with one even saying they’ve been bothered by the sun since Warzone’s launch in March of 2020. Another suggested altering the sun’s position every match, meaning players dropping in certain areas will not be disproportionately affected. “The sun should be in a random spot each round,” they said, “which affects shadows and which direction has most glare!” While the issues are traceable back to Warzone’s launch and Modern Warfare, many have pointed out more issues in Verdansk ’84, which dropped back in April. Soon after we compiled this backlash, Raven Software’s Shingledecker replied on Twitter. “Is this true? The sun lens flare in Verdansk ’84 is bothering people? I can easily tone it down if needed.” It didn’t take long for the response to gain traction. Tons of Warzone’s biggest names jumped in to further explain the issue and why a fix is necessary. “Looks like I know what I’m doing on Monday,” Shingledecker soon followed up. “I’m happy to look and address any VFX concerns. Thanks for the feedback.” Looks like I know what I’m doing on Monday. I’m happy to look and address any VFX concerns. Thanks for the feedback. I don’t have the power to change the entire lighting of the map though. Lighting feedback can be sent to @RavenSoftware #Warzone — Reed S. (@fx_reed) May 23, 2021 While he doesn’t quite “have the power to change the entire lighting” of Verdansk ’84, he is able to “adjust the brightness of the lens flare on screen.” Therefore, once a fix comes through, the near-blinding rays of light emanating from the sun should be toned down quite a bit. Warzone players already glitching through walls for easy wins on new Fortune’s Keep map – Dexerto
Warzone players already glitching through walls for easy wins on new Fortune’s Keep map ActivisionJust days after its release in the Warzone Season 4 update, players have already found a number of bugged walls to glitch through in order to secure some easy kills. If you’re an experienced Warzone player, you’ll be all too familiar with the issue of broken walls. From the early days in Verdansk through to Rebirth Island and Caldera too, no Battle Royale map has been safe from the frustrating issue. Pesky players have time and again found ways of getting out of bounds. Whether it’s inside of various walls or in some cases, directly under the map itself, we’ve seen dozens of examples over the years. Now, we can add Warzone’s fourth map to the list as just days after it arrived in Season 4, Fortune’s Keep has quickly led to the same problem. Countless players are already glitching their way through various surfaces to ruin the fresh experience for others. A number of new glitch spots caught traction on Reddit just days after the map went live. Rather than just one POI being hindered by the wall-breaking problem, multiple locations are already being torn apart. Undeniably the most impactful, however, is the glitched surface in Town. With players able to push through into a one-way zone, allowing their bullets to travel outward but no returning fire to travel in, teams are able to dominate much of the map without sustaining any damage. Not only does this glitched area provide a sweeping view both inside and outside of the nearest building, but it’s also situated in close proximity to a Buy Station. Thus, any teams trying to upgrade their equipment of call in a Loadout Drop can swiftly meet their end without even so much as seeing their opponents. “It’s already rampant,” as Reddit user ‘BigBossM’ explained after sharing multiple instances of the same exploit. Developers are yet to address the Fortune’s Keep bugs publicly and no updates have been listed on the official Warzone Trello board just yet. Read More: Top 10 most viewed Warzone Twitch streamers – So for the time being, you’ll have to be extra cautious on the new Warzone map. You just might fall victim to players abusing these broken walls until a patch is rolled out.

Warzone players get easy kills by baiting enemies with “play dead” strat – Dexerto
Warzone players get easy kills by baiting enemies with “play dead” strat Infinity Ward[jwplayer br5AuoVJ]Warzone has been dominated by the Bruen MK9 and MP5 meta for a while now, but a crafty new strat appears to be emerging as Call of Duty players are playing dead to secure easy kills. The crafty opossum defies its natural predators by playing dead and going into a comatose state upon being scared. This is involuntary, but acts as a natural defense mechanism causing predators to lose interest. The crafty human has co-opted this tactic and put it to deadly use across Verdansk. While the opossum only uses this stratagem for survival, the human, in his natural Verdansk environment, rapidly segues from prey to predator once their hunting opponent has let down their guard. As evidenced by the Reddit user ‘Lambeauleap80,’ the nuances of this procedure yield devastating and hilarious results. By going prone and dropping the vast majority of their items (save for an incognito Throwing Knife), Lambeauleap80 is able to con an enemy into pure confusion — setting them up for one of the funniest death chat reactions you will hear across the Call of Duty wilderness. Like the opossum decreasing its heart rate to confuse opponents, the sneaky human waits, completely prone and still, for their hunter to casually walk about the abundant loot they have dropped before deciding to strike. And once they strike, they remain prone, causing their hunter-turned-hunted opponent to assume they have been shot from afar and begin armoring up. And it is at that moment that they strike, popping up and shocking the life out of their bamboozled foe with some quick punches. There is no telling what happened next, as the now-dead enemy told their teammates of the trickery he endured. But in the original example of playing dead, we did see how it played out, as Redditor ‘I_like_to_run__’ proved they also like to sneak in a smooth moment of outdoor deception. As shown in that clip, this tactic can work even if you keep your guns on you. But, while you can secure a first kill relatively easily, it also leaves you at the mercy of the rest of an enemy’s team who are now hellbent on avenging their fallen comrade. All in all, it’s impressive to see humans learning from the glorious opossum. But it is an important lesson not to believe everything you see when you deploy into a high-stakes match in Verdansk too.

Warzone players furious with secret buff that makes Vanguard planes deadlier – Dexerto
Warzone players furious with secret buff that makes Vanguard planes deadlier ActivisionWarzone players have been complaining about the power of planes ever since the move to the Pacific. Instead of nerfing them, Activision released a secret buff that makes them even stronger. Planes were first introduced to Warzone with the Caldera update. This World War II theme brought the flying device that has been raining terror on the island. They are so strong that people have been shadowbanned for abusing a trick that helps boost their K/D. While fans expected them to get nerfed, Warzone devs had other ideas and didn’t even let the community know that they made a massive change to planes. Hidden change makes Warzone plane stronger YOU CAN THIRST PEOPLE WITH PLANES NOW?!?! pic.twitter.com/UN4a4V1wOn — Isaac (@IceManIsaac) January 22, 2022 A Twitter clip from Warzone streamer IceManIsaac revealed that planes were given even more power by allowing them to finish off downed enemies. Before, people in planes could only knock an opponent but now they can secure the kill from the safety of the sky. Fans were not happy to realize that this was put in the game. Fellow content creator Expel cracked a joke as he sarcastically said, “Thank god they fixed that.” Thank god they fixed that. Was worried controller players wouldn’t be able to drop 40s anymore 🙄 — Expel (@iamExpel) January 22, 2022 Other people were distraught by this and wondered why the devs would bolster a feature that was already strong. “No way they buffed the plane lmao.” Another person couldn’t believe that this even made it into the game and questioned the decision of even putting planes into Warzone. “How did they think adding these planes would add any sort of balance.” This is far from the first time players have complained about these sky vehicles being too strong. But, there still hasn’t been a nerf to make these less oppressive on Caldera.

Warzone players furious with “pathetic” invisible Gulag gun issues – Dexerto
Warzone players furious with “pathetic” invisible Gulag gun issues ActivisionWarzone players need to be on their game to escape the gulag, but emerging victorious is becoming harder as a “pathetic” loading issue is sending players back to the lobby. Call of Duty: Warzone may have impressed players when it debuted initially in March 2020, but the road since then has been rocky, to say the least. Even though Call of Duty: Vanguard has taken over from Modern Warfare and Cold War, Raven Software’s battle royale continues to be plagued by heinous glitches and bugs, with players calling for an entirely new experience. The gulag is a chance to get even with your enemies and return to battle, but an infuriating issue is seriously ruining the game. “Pathetic” loading problem is killing players Unfortunately for Reddit user JoTHauMm1, getting out of the gulag wasn’t on the cards as a bizarre loading problem sent them to their death. As soon as they spawned into Caldera’s gulag, their weapon completely failed to appear within the game, making it possible for them to deal with their enemy. Players from all facets of the community have chimed in, as the issue is affecting console and PC players. “Literally why I said f*** it and started playing plunder,” user Otherwise_Ad_4965 said in frustration. “It’s also happening on PC. They should be ashamed,” said TheLazyHerbalist. The obscure problem may have something to do with Warzone’s texture streaming, but others feel a next-gen update could solve these kinds of problems: “It’s a port of the Xbox One version. No word when or if we’re getting a next-gen update.” “It’s weird because we are seeing a bunch of people with a variety of issues but it doesn’t appear that all of the same issues happen to each console,” added Redditor RoX_TimE_BomB. Some players are beginning to feel disillusioned by the developers too: “I wouldn’t blame the map but the developers/publisher for cheaping out on all areas of creation. One major sign was when they didn’t even bother using the Vanguard Engine and just reskinned the Warzone they already had out.” Issues with Warzone are unfortunately commonplace, but as 2022 introduces another era for the game, we can only hope Activision gets Warzone back on track.

Warzone players still furious with Infinity Ward over hacking problem – Dexerto
Warzone players still furious with Infinity Ward over hacking problem ActivisionWarzone players are still furious with Infinity Ward amid the slew of cheaters continuing to plague the battle royale. Cheating in competitive gaming is inevitable. Developers face the nigh-on-impossible task of policing the threat of hackers spoiling the party for those legitimately grinding their way through the ranks. While certain games seem to have more of a stronghold in the fight against cheaters, there have been some that have notably struggled to fend off the threat. It’s fair to say that Warzone falls within that category. Despite Infinity Ward’s best efforts, cheaters are still running riot in their battle royale. Following Infinity Ward’s use of the banhammer, plenty of notable players criticized the devs for their response. Some even argued that Warzone needs some kind of anti-cheat software to tackle the cheaters head-on. Infinity Ward under fire amid Warzone cheating Warzone is now five months into its tenure as arguably the best battle royale on the market. Regardless of the rampant cheating, the game provides the very best of what Call of Duty has to offer. And given just how well-received the game has been, player frustrations are starting to show, since cheaters are continuing to prevail and ruin the experience for everyone. One Redditor vented their anger towards Infinity Ward’s “ridiculous” inability to counter the game’s biggest threat. “It’s really ridiculous that this company can’t do something about the stupid amount of hackers. How many millions and millions at their disposal and they can’t do a goddamn thing? F**king bullshit…” The post garnered some responses from the community, with the consensus agreeing that Infinity Ward needs to take action. “With the number of hacks available, it doesn’t look like they’re able to get control over this problem. It sucks so bad,” another user commented. In response, one user argued that the sales numbers are what’s dictating Infinity Ward’s supposed lack of action. “Sadly they won’t fix the hacking problem. They just don’t care. People keep buying battle passes and skins and that’s all they care about. They don’t even try to go after any hackers websites.” Of course, going after hackers by tackling them head-on with anti-cheat software is an extremely complicated process. Given that Warzone is cross-platform, the anti-cheat would require meticulous planning and execution to ensure there were no loopholes to exploit. But who knows, perhaps Infinity Ward has something up their sleeves in the not too distant future.

Warzone players furious with HRM-9 nerf as SMG meta remains “stale” – Dexerto
Warzone players furious with HRM-9 nerf as SMG meta remains “stale” Warzone players have hit out at the “pitiful” nerf that the HRM-9 received in the March 19 update, as they’re “tired” of the SMG being run in every lobby. Over the last few weeks, Warzone players have rejoiced as the battle royale’s meta has been in its most diverse state for quite some time. A whole load of guns have proven to be viable and competitive options, including some funky options that are propped up by one particular attachment. Despite the openness in the meta, there are still some guns that are more popular than others. The HRM-9 has been one of these, with the SMG continuing to be run in all types of lobbies by all types of players despite being hit with some big nerfs. The SMG was nerfed again during the March 19 update for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, with its Max Damage Range being decreased to 11.30 meters, down from 12.95. Some players aren’t happy, though, and wanted bigger changes. “They must still be planning skins for the HRM as that’s the most pitiful nerf I’ve ever seen,” one player said. “HRM nerf is a joke. The meta guns have been the same for so long at this point. Getting tired of literally every player in ranked lobbies using Ram-7 and HRM,” another annoyed player said. “I’m ready for a whole new SUB meta with a new S3 gun. HRM meta has been great but it’s getting stale,” another agreed. Others claimed that the SMG will “most likely be meta” and that it needs a nerf to its damage values rather than its damage ranges. “The HRM nerf looks super insignificant,” they added. Some fans argued that the SMG was already “overrated” before this nerf and that Warzone players should have switched to the ARM9 or the WSP9 anyway. It remains to be seen if the HRM-9 does completely fall away from the battle royale’s meta or if it remains competitive for a little longer.

Warzone players furious with “embarrassing” confusion over new Resurgence map – Dexerto
Warzone players furious with “embarrassing” confusion over new Resurgence map ActivisionWarzone players originally thought they could play the Al Bagra Fortress Resurgence map when Season 5 Reloaded started, but now have to wait longer. Miscommunications in Warzone patch notes have frustrated community members. In February, players called out the devs for “lying” about Resurgence squad sizes. Before Ashika Island launched, Activision promised the map would have “all squad sizes at launch.” However, when the map went live, only quads were available. Season 5 Reloaded features two similar mistakes. First, the mid-season update announcement blog stated that it would introduce a host leave game feature in DMZ that would stop party hosts from unilaterally pulling teams out of DMZ matches if they chose to quit. However, the official patch notes clarified that the feature would not be coming. The Warzone devs also promised a separate playlist for the new Al Bagra Fortress Resurgence Map in Season 5 Reloaded. Yet when the update went live, the new map was nowhere to be found. Warzone Fort Resurgence map mysteriously disappears CharlieIntel clarified the confusion surrounding Al Bagra Fortress not being included in the Season 5 Reloaded update. “Activision announced Fort Resurgence as part of the launch content of Warzone Season 05 Reloaded, and today, are now backtracking and says all of their announcement blogs were wrong. The map is only live next week now, yikes.” The Call of Duty insider expressed disappointment over the devs backtracking, and other community members agreed. FaZe Swagg responded: “Such an L.” Warzone players are especially frustrated because the mid-season update doesn’t include many new features besides the new map. Weapon balancing, Armored Royale, Unhinged Solos, and Ranked Play were the only other noteworthy changes. A second user summarized those feelings: “Drip feeding the one thing most people wanna play in a season that’s already almost over is crazy.” Community members want the devs to acknowledge their mistakes rather than call it a miscommunication. “In 2023, the definition of clarification has been stretched past its breaking point.” We will provide an update when Al Bagra Fortress goes live in Warzone.

Warzone players furious with “dumb” Season 5 map rotation – Dexerto
Warzone players furious with “dumb” Season 5 map rotation ActivisionWarzone Season 5 added a new playlist rotation, and some players are furious over the treatment of a fan-favorite map. During Warzone Season 4, Raven Software experimented with a map rotation system. Fortune’s Keep and Rebirth Island rotated in the season’s final week. The Warzone developers must have liked the feedback because they are making it a permanent feature in Season 5. Apex Legends has a map rotation system, and its Season 14 pool polarized the community. Unfortunately, the new playlist changes also had an inverse effect on Warzone players, and they are furious with the treatment of Rebirth Island. Warzone players blast map rotation system The first four weeks of Season 5 Warzone features a daily rotation from Mondays through Thursdays. On the weekends, there will be LTM additions. Caldera and Fortune’s Keep will always have Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads available to play. Rebirth Island is part of a weekday rotation and will not always be available to play daily. The map will only be available on random days and weekends. Rebirth Island is a fan-favorite map; this could be the last chance they have to play it before Warzone 2. One Warzone player responded, “If you only like resurgence, you’ll have that 25% of the time on weekdays, and it’s random, so you won’t be able to plan what days you want to play.” A second user added, “Activision and Raven are all about forcing things on the community that they don’t like.” mockingly, a Reddit user argued, “We’ve heard you, and we’re not going to listen, so here is all the sh*t you don’t want!” In the Season 5 blog, Raven Software said they “will monitor sentiment” regarding the changes made. Players can voice their opinions if they aren’t happy with the decision.

Warzone players furious with “broken” battle pass not leveling correctly – Dexerto
Warzone players furious with “broken” battle pass not leveling correctly ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players have been left furious with the current battle pass, claiming that it is currently “broken” and won’t level up correctly. Over the last couple of years, the battle pass has become a hugely influential part of multiplayer games as players exchange hours of grinding for different rewards in the form of new weapons, skins, and other cosmetics. When it comes to Warzone, the battle pass has had its fair share of ups and downs, with players often praising the devs for the new character skins while also panning them for the addition of weapon blueprints and ‘filler’ items. Most recently, the battle pass has presented players with headaches as they claim their progress isn’t representative of the hours or performances they’ve put in, and they want an explanation from the developers. Warzone fans frustrated with battle pass progress Multiple players have highlighted the issue over the last few days including Redditor Wicked_one_at, who simply asked “What is wrong with the battle pass?” The Warzone fan claimed their battle pass level had “not moved at all” despite doing everything they could to level it up. Their issues were echoed by plenty of others, some claiming it is “glitched” and “bugged up,” while others stated it is now just “extremely slow” following a few double XP weekends. “There’s something wrong with the BP,” stated Revolutionary-Bed761. “I’ve played the same amount as I always have and usually would be done the BP or close to it by this time and I’m sitting at level 31.” Other players have taken to Twitter to try and get answers from Activision, some claiming that they’re seeing major discrepancies in the XP they’re earning for the battle pass versus who they’re playing with. On top of those issues, there are plenty of players who simply cannot access the battle pass screen, with the game throwing them out pretty instantly after trying. It remains to be seen if that’ll right some of the issues for players or if the problems will persist regardless.

Warzone players furious over “temporary” ranked removal – Dexerto
Warzone players furious over “temporary” ranked removal ActivisionWarzone players have hit out at the Call of Duty battle royale devs for their treatment of Ranked play after a “temporary” maintenance session became so much more than that. It took the Warzone devs a while to satisfy many of the complaints about skill-based matchmaking and disproportionate skill levels in lobbies, but if you want to test yourself against the best of the best, Ranked play is where it’s at. Ranked was finally introduced to Warzone back in Season 3 and has undergone a few changes since then. Those changes are mainly to do with what weapons and pieces of equipment are restricted from being used. There have been calls for SR to be tweaked as well and, of course, more servers. On October 4, the devs announced that they’d be taking Ranked offline ‘temporarily’ for some maintenance. However, it lasted much longer than promised, sparking some fury from the community. Warzone players annoyed “temporary maintenance” makes Ranked disappear That’s right, Ranked play disappeared from the Warzone playlist on October 4 and was supposed to last for just the morning. Though, on October 5, it was still unavailable to players. “Yeah this is some bulls**t,” said one annoyed fan. “I thought I was actually tweaking out couldn’t find literally uninstalled and reinstalled the game, CoD doing CoD things,” another added. “F*ck me. I wanted to play ranked because that dumb ass shotgun is banned. Now I HAVE to play in lobbies where no skilled dbags are running that piece of s*it,” commented another furious player. Some fans speculated that it was timed to come down as many notable streamers and players attended COD Next, but were annoyed by the lack of an announcement ahead of time. Others suggested that they need to bump up the Riochet anti-cheat given that cheaters appear to be back in a big way. “Baffling to me because they advertise so many features with the anti-cheat and it’s handing out shadowbans left and right but it never works against the actual cheaters,” one added.

Warzone players furious over removal of Rebirth Island Trios in Season 1 – Dexerto
Warzone players furious over removal of Rebirth Island Trios in Season 1 Infinity Ward/ActivisionThere’s a lot of anger in the Warzone community as Rebirth Island Trios have been rotated out. Rebirth Island Quads Mini Royale has replaced the mode, and it’s fair to say players are not happy about it. The arrival of Rebirth Island Trios with the Season 1 Warzone update was met with mixed reactions from the community. Some players loved the fast-paced gameplay and constant gunfights, whereas others complained the island was simply too small. Despite this, the mode was becoming extremely popular heading into the second week of Season 1. Therefore, it’s no surprise that players have hit back with complaints now the Trios mode has been removed. Warzone players angry at the removal of Rebirth Trios A thread posted to the CODWarzone subreddit criticizing the rotation of Rebirth Trios has over 1800 upvotes at the time of writing. The post simply expresses frustration that the Rebirth Trios mode has been removed just after the game had become enjoyable for a lot of players: “Just when I started to enjoy the game again… they had to remove it, slap in some stupid quad gamemode and a stupid gulag.” The new Mini Royale Quads mode takes the chaos of Rebirth Island to a new level, effectively halving the size of the already small map. Unfortunately, this new mode has not been well-received by the community and players are requesting for Trios to be brought back. Read More: How to win your Gulag 1v1 – There’s obvious frustration from players that the developers do not listen to their feedback. This is clear in the multiple comments that express how “tired” fans are of good game modes being removed. There’s no doubt that Rebirth Island Trios were incredibly popular. Some fans have even gone on record to say it “could have been a stand-alone game it was so good.” Warzone player’s love for the mode primarily revolved around the fact that it encouraged aggressive play. By having both Verdansk and Rebirth Island Trios, players had a choice depending on which style of gameplay they preferred. When is Rebirth Island Trios coming back to Warzone? It’s difficult to say when exactly Rebirth Island Trios will return to Warzone. Typically, the game modes are rotated every Tuesday of each week. Of course, there may be a number of new Rebirth Island modes we haven’t seen yet so it’s unclear how many rotations it will take before Trios returns. We’ll have to see if the developers listen to the plea of the fans and bring back Rebirth Trios earlier than expected. It’s most likely that the community will simply have to wait for the mode to be rotated back in. Unfortunately, it could be a number of weeks or months before it comes back around.

Warzone players furious over removal of popular modes in Season 3 – Dexerto
Warzone players furious over removal of popular modes in Season 3 Infinity WardCall of Duty: Warzone players have been voicing their anger after popular the popular Trios playlist was removed from the battle royale game. Since Warzone was first released on March 10, it has enjoyed a lot of praise, and a rocketing player base too, partly thanks to being totally free-to-play. But, when the Season 3 update dropped on April 8, some players were left disappointed, even as the much-requested Quads mode was added. Compared to last year’s Blackout, the playlists on offer have been cut with the new four-person mode added. The original Trios playlist was removed in the April 8 update, which kicked off Season 3, and many players have criticized Infinity Ward’s decision to remove the option designed for parties of three. Despite the fact that a new Quads playlist has taken its place, many were unhappy with the change, calling for each of the different playlists to remain permanent so that they would not have to use the Squad fill feature. “Why would you add Quads, but remove Trios?! We want Solos, Duos, Trios, AND Quads, not just 1 or 2 options,” Reddit user u/lWooooool expressed, “I’m not sure why it’s so hard to just leave all of the modes in the game.” Another Reddit user, u/GeneralBrothers, who also received a lot of support for their post, called for Infinity Ward to compromise and maintain at least three playable options for Warzone fans. “Solos, Duos, and Squads is the right way to do it,” they explained, revealing why they thought Trios playlist isn’t necessary: “you can play a fair game alone or with a friend, and being a squad of 3 in a 4-man squad game is not a big deal.” Many suggested that it was likely that Infinity Ward had chosen to keep a select few modes available in order to improve the matchmaking experience. If players are split across too many playlists, it can result in longer wait times to find a match, and worse connections when in a game. As it stands the only modes playable in Warzone are Solos and Quads, and while it is unclear what Infinity Ward has planned for the future, it will be difficult to find the right balance and please everyone.

Warzone players furious over new playlist from imaginary community poll – Dexerto
Warzone players furious over new playlist from imaginary community poll ActivisionWarzone players have been left furious by the January 11 playlist update, in which there were two “community vote” modes added to the rotation — that players say they never even voted on. One of the somewhat contentious features of Call of Duty: Warzone are the playlist updates. Playlist updates happen each week on a Thursday, these switch up maps, squad numbers, and modes to keep things fresh. However, not all community members are fans of these rotations, with many disappointed about having to wait for their favorite maps and modes to appear. Raven Software tried to take these concerns under consideration, creating a system where the community gets to vote on what they want to appear in each week’s rotation. However, when the playlist for January 11 released, players were quick to point out it had a rather large problem. In a tweet announcing the playlist rotation, Raven Software listed ‘Orlov Military Base – Trios’ as a ‘community vote’ for the game’s Resurgence mode. However, as many were quick to point out, that community vote never happened. The original poll was a vote for Quads, and Vondel clearly won out. While Orlov did appear in this quads poll, Raven Software never created a community poll for trios. “Nobody, and I mean nobody, voted for Orlov Military Base,” said one Twitter user. “There was no “community vote” for Military Base to be in trios”, another agreed, going on to ask the devs to replace it with Ashika. “Like seriously, what are you guys doing? Just let us play what we want to play!” reads the thread’s top comment. There’s never a playlist update without leaving a certain group of players unhappy, but some do seem particularly incensed about this.

Warzone players furious over “huge L” ranked play changes in Season 6 – Dexerto
Warzone players furious over “huge L” ranked play changes in Season 6 ActivisionWarzone players have been left seriously frustrated at the changes made to ranked play in the game in the Season 6 update, baffled as to why certain decisions were made, most notably the changed player count. For many more competitive-minded players, ranked play is Warzone at its best, as they can grind their way through skill divisions, earn SR, and aim for the very top ranks where they will play against the best players. There are some key changes between casual play in public matches and the ranked experience, such as certain weapon restrictions and circle changes, as well as a higher player count, but they made some significant changes in the Season 6 update, and people aren’t happy. Season 6 ranked changes Shortly after patch notes went live, ranked devs Treyarch posted some additional changes that had been made that were not included in the initial notes, including a player count reduction from 150 players or 50 trios, to 102 players or 34 trios. Gulag Entry kits were also added as well as some circle sizing and time changes. Immediately, players were upset at the changes. World Series of Warzone winner Biffle responded simply asking “excuse me?” “102 players needs to be reverted ASAP,” said fellow competitor KingProdigy. Others simply called the change a “huge L” and echoed demands for the 102 player change be reverted, while many responses asked why they had failed to address the issue of players hitting ALT F4 so as to avoid losing SR and not fall down the ranks. Season 6 is the last of Modern Warfare 2, and with just 6 weeks between the update and Modern Warfare 3 dropping, it’s unclear whether Raven Software or Treyarch will make any more major changes to ranked or Warzone in general, as focus shifts to the new game and how it’ll change the Call of Duty battle royale.

Warzone players furious as DMR nerfs actually make the gun more accurate – Dexerto
Warzone players furious as DMR nerfs actually make the gun more accurate ActivisionFollowing highly anticipated nerfs to Warzone’s controversial DMR 14, players have lashed out at Raven Software after realizing the weapon is actually better in some ways than it was before. While the Warzone community rejoiced as nerfs finally arrived for the DMR on January 6, it wasn’t all too long before the joy turned to frustration. A few hours after the patch and various players had determined that the gun’s recoil was surprisingly easier to control than before. Headshot damage has indeed been reduced as intended. Though the secondary nerf that looked to ‘increase recoil’ has had the opposite effect in practice. Many players are reporting that they “can’t feel a difference.” Despite the slight damage adjustment, early reactions to the patch indicate the DMR will reign supreme for a little while longer. In response to the patch breakdown, popular Warzone player NICKMERCS responded with a simple “W.” Two hours later, however, he came back to update his opinion. “After playing, I take back my W and change it to an L.” After playing, I take back my W. And change it to an L. — FaZe Nickmercs (@NICKMERCS) January 6, 2021 The weapon being just as strong as usual was a common response in our initial thread on Twitter. “With every squad using 4 DMRs you’re still gonna get melted regardless,” one player said. “Still DMRzone man, feels bad,” another chimed in. Reddit echoed the same sentiment with the community largely calling for another set of nerfs. “It’s done f*** all. Now we get to wait another month. Worst nerf ever.” Read more: Warzone finisher would have let you teabag – It’s still broken,” ‘beeker96’ explained. “They didn’t fix the real issues with the DMR like it’s stupid fast fire rate or extremely high damage at any range to the body. Thing will still 2-3 shot you to the body at distance.” Comment byu/Aimless212 from discussion inCODWarzone The DMR has dominated Warzone’s meta for the majority of Season One. It took weeks for this first set of changes to arrive. Meaning it could be a while yet before the developers take further action. Though with such a strong backlash to the first wave of DMR nerfs, perhaps it won’t take quite as long the next time around. If you’re hopping back into Warzone anytime soon, expect to still see the DMR more often than any other weapon. It may take another shot or two for players to be wiped out. Though these shots will come with more precision than they did before the update.

Warzone players are furious about Aydan’s “fraud” Quads world record – Dexerto
Warzone players are furious about Aydan’s “fraud” Quads world record Activision / Twitter: AydanFour of the most skilled Warzone players joined into the same lobby on March 5 and set an ‘unbreakable’ world record before all was said and done. This insane 162 kill run has led to a huge wave of criticism online, however, as players lashed out over the true skill rating of the lobby. When it comes to Warzone world records, there are certain runs that simply look unbeatable. That was the case when Aydan, Almond, Newbz, and ScummN dropped a staggering 162 kills to shatter the Quads record just three days ago. While they killed practically everyone in the lobby at least once, and certain players multiple times, the run quickly came under fire. Having joined a Bronze-tier lobby, the stacked squad wasn’t exactly facing equal competition. In fact, it was later confirmed to be a Bronze 1 lobby, the lowest Warzone tier. This means four of the world’s best players were essentially tearing up a lobby full of the least successful players in the game. As a result, many have questioned the record, even going as far as to label it “complete bullsh**” and ‘fraudulent.’ “Aydan and company are complete frauds,” Reddit user ‘ZouCreww13’ said in a March 7 thread. The lowest KD on the team was Aydan with an average of 4.97 kills per game. In comparison, the average KD throughout the entire lobby was just 0.89. Despite the impressive pace that led to the new record, many players argue it was too big a mismatch to count. “These records mean nothing when it’s against people like that,” one player responded on Twitter. “20+ KD overall, no matter how many hours they play, they should never ever get put into such low skilled lobbies,” ‘Omega_Sylo’ chimed in. Read More: When is the Nuke event in Warzone? – For players of that caliber, Diamond-tier lobbies are standard. They’re typically matched up against other ‘competent’ players, making record runs more challenging. This Bronze 1 lobby is exceptionally rare, even for less skilled teams. That’s actually disgraceful. These records mean nothing when it’s against people like that. — Grug5 (@hopefulstoic23) March 5, 2021 It’s clear to see why the run was contentious, though Almxnd soon took to Twitter to respond to the controversy. “The lobby we got was an anomaly,” he confirmed. Of their past 20 matches, Almxnd revealed that 16 of them were in Diamond lobbies. There’s no telling how they were blessed with that particular lobby. Regardless of your stance, there’s no denying they made the most of the opportunity. It’ll be shocking if a team of four is ever able to trump their 162 run.

Warzone players furious as Ultra Operator skin looks totally different in-game – Dexerto
Warzone players furious as Ultra Operator skin looks totally different in-game ActivisionWith Season Four of Warzone the game introduced Ultra Skin Operators that players could unlock through challenges. There has been another one added but this time it is available through the store and players are not happy with how it looks in-game. Warzone players are constantly getting blueprints, camos, and Operator skins to improve the way they look while running around Verdansk. Back in June the game was introduced to its first installation of Ultra Operator skins which could be unlocked by doing challenges in Warzone. However in this latest bundle released to the store, players feel like they’re getting bamboozled with a preview of the operator skin that doesn’t look like anything they see in-game. New Ultra Operator skin lacks detail in-game Warzone players are not thrilled with Activision’s latest bundle and call it “lazy.” The new Magma Fury Ultra Skin Bundle hit the stores at the start of August. People are noticing that the skin looks really cool in the preview menu with fire, color, and lots of detail but when they drop into Verdansk things don’t quite look the same. As seen in the pictures above the skin is full of flames and glowing with detail while viewing it in the shop but while using it in-game it appears the flames have been extinguished and lack a lot of color. These bundles cost players CoD Points which they can acquire through the Battle Pass or by purchasing them in the store. One Redditor saw this and immediately wondered why anyone would even buy this expensive bundle. Another person responded saying that the flames were the selling point and that is why people are buying the skin but they are doing so just to be let down by the lackluster of in-game details. For now, it’s unclear if Activision will take the feedback and make changes, but the community is very against people buying this skin claiming they are getting ripped off for what was promised from the store preview.

Warzone players furious as Tonfa nerf changed “nothing” – Dexerto
Warzone players furious as Tonfa nerf changed “nothing” ActivisionWarzone players have been left furious as the Tonfa nerf, which was supposed to bring the melee weapon back down to earth, has basically done “nothing” to change things. Over the last few years of Warzone, plenty of Call of Duty fans have been left furious by the power of melee weapons. Not only has the Riot Shield been a constant nuisance, but Modern Warfare 2019’s Kali Sticks were a better option at times than actually using the starting pistol. While Riot Shields remained a bit of a headache in Modern Warfare 3, they weren’t as dominant as they once were. However, a new problem reared its head in the form of the Tonfa. The melee weapon, which was introduced in Modern Warfare 2, delivers hammer blows up close, and does so in a rapid fashion too. It had been creeping in as a bigger annoyance over the last few weeks, and was ultimately nerfed in the May 15 update. That update increased the number of strikes you’d need to hit an enemy with using the Tonfa to eliminate them from three to four. However, some players have argued that it’s done “nothing” to change the melee weapon’s power. “Don’t forget that fucking sniper hit point blank in the head doesn’t kill you but some stick will break you faster and more efficient,” one player said. “So, playing on MNK, you now need to hit 93% or more of your shots to win against them as opposed to 99%. Good to know. Sounds pretty lame,” another added. Some players urged the devs to nerf all melee weapons “into oblivion” before readjusting them in further updates. “If there is ANYTHING in this game that feels broken, OP, annoying, doesn’t feel right, it’s dealing with melee,” they added. It remains to be seen if the devs will change something, but it’s clear that something needs to change. We already know that KAR98 is making a comeback in Season 4, so who knows, we could be in for a bigger overhaul.

Warzone players furious as they “can’t see” anything again – Dexerto
Warzone players furious as they “can’t see” anything again ActivisionCall of Duty Warzone players have been left frustrated by the fact they “can’t see” a lot of character skins in-game, as they’re once again urging the devs to fix the game’s lighting and visibility issues. Over the last few years, Warzone has had it’s fair share of complaints when it comes to issues about visibility. Verdansk, at one point, had a sun glare so bright that you couldn’t see a thing if you were aiming near it. On top of that, there have also been ‘invisible’ character skins from time to time. No one is forgetting the problems that the Raze, 100 Thieves, or satanic Groot skins created anytime soon. Well, the issues has cropped up again in Season 4 Reloaded, as Redditor KeyPineapple61 highlighted a problem with the fact they struggled to see an enemy who was stood in a doorway during a recent gunfight. “Some of the worst visibility I’ve seen in a FPS game. Jesus Christ. As soon as I’m getting shot dude is gone there’s zero visibility,” they said. “I can never see s*it in this game and my vision isn’t bad or anything,” another player said. “There are a couple of areas like this on Rebirth where you basically can’t see s*it if you’re outside looking in,” another agreed. “This game is bluuuuurry. Like insanely,” commented another. While some players urged the devs to remove darkened skins that could easy fade into any unlit areas, others want them to follow the way some rival battle royale games do it. “Apex has nailed visibility. I have over 500 hours on Apex and never had an issue like that. Just give players a light outline and you’re good to go,” said one. “Fortnite does it better imo,” another said. As noted, it is a long-standing issue, so hopefully things turn around at some point.

Warzone players furious as streamer cheats for a month without ban – Dexerto
Warzone players furious as streamer cheats for a month without ban Activision / PexelsWarzone hackers have been on the loose for quite some time and players are infuriated with the devs as a streamer has been live with cheats and still isn’t banned. In the battle royale, Warzone, hackers have had their way running matches for millions of players every day. However, with the Warzone Pacific update, the community finally got the RICOCHET anti-cheat that is trying to suppress these rodents. Despite this software, hackers are still running around Warzone and players are even more mindblown as a cheating streamer has been live for over a month without a ban. Warzone streamer still isn’t banned after using cheats Facebook and Warzone have a strict policy against cheaters and have been very vocal in making sure that people using their services will play fair. However, a Reddit post by ‘kurt7022’ highlighted a Facebook streamer that has been live on the platform for about a month and still hasn’t had their Warzone account banned. Redditors are worried that the kernel-level drivers could be failing as someone they know has blatant hacks, is getting away with it. The streamer, ‘Nitrothecheat’ had their first broadcast on December 7, right before Caldera came out. Since then, the streamer has been live over 10 times on the platform and even admits to cheating as well as showing it on their broadcast. As seen in the screenshot above, Nitro isn’t even trying to hide the fact that he is hacking in Warzone. One Redditor slammed the new anti-cheat and the dev team. “Activision clearly can’t even get their game to work properly.” At the time of writing this, the hacker still has not been banned on Warzone or Facebook but players are hopeful that in due time they will receive their punishment.

Warzone players furious as Season 1 Reloaded update ‘breaks’ game: “It’s time to quit” – Dexerto
Warzone players furious as Season 1 Reloaded update ‘breaks’ game: “It’s time to quit” ActivisionThe Warzone Season 1 Reloaded patch went live hours ago but fans of the CoD BR quickly noticed it wasn’t all good news. With the game currently all but ‘broken’, players are now threatening to quit in droves as frustration takes hold. Like clockwork, the latest mid-season update for CoD’s ongoing titles just went live on January 17. Season 1 Reloaded was set to introduce all new content in Warzone, set Modern Warfare 3’s Ranked Mode live, and of course, rebalance the game after weeks of a few particular guns leading the meta. While it all sounded great on paper, with lengthy patch notes detailing dozens of tweaks across the board, it quickly became clear the update may have done more harm than good. In a matter of hours, players reported all sorts of game-breaking issues, leading devs to rapidly shift gears. Various features were disabled on the spot while the likes of MW3 Ranked Play were hit with major delays. Now, the community has seemingly had enough and is threatening to quit en masse. “I’m sick of it,” one lengthy rant titled ‘It’s time for us to quit’ began on Reddit. “I’m sick of broken updates. This sh**y patch put me over the edge. It’s like no one running this sh**show has ever played the game.” From Loadout Drops simply not functioning, to Create a Class outright refusing to work as intended, many have labeled Season 1 Reloaded as “the worst update” to a live service game they’ve “ever seen.” For some, it appears to have been the straw to break the camel’s back. “F*** this broken game, I’m out,” one player said. Though whether the hundreds in agreeance stick to their guns, is obviously up for debate. “I never like the dramatic exit posts but this update really is bad,” another player chimed in. “It can’t be stated enough. The game barely even functions at the moment and the changes felt like they were dictated by a game of darts.” “Do they test updates?” another Warzone player questioned. “Do they even play their own game? Literally everything with the game is broken. Never seen anything like this.” For now, devs appear to be scrambling to fix the most damaging issues, with frequent communication on the game’s social channels. Though for some, it may be too little too late.

Warzone players furious as playlist rotations keep removing their favorite modes – Dexerto
Warzone players furious as playlist rotations keep removing their favorite modes ActivisionPlaylist rotations have been controversial since Raven Software first introduced the concept to Warzone, with players becoming frustrated that their favorite modes are getting passed over. Every week, Warzone changes the maps and modes that are available. But Raven Software’s playlist rotation for July 11-17 was a tipping point for many players, with their announcement receiving immense backlash. With traditional Quads on Urzikstan not in the playlist, the only option is to play Quads in the Mutation Buy Back limited-time mode. Community members slammed the decision to remove a core squad size from the battle royale experience. Raven Software created the playlist rotation system to ensure that players find matches quickly and that lobbies are always full. As more maps and game modes are added, more users are needed to fill every lobby for every possible combination. However, this system has pushed players away instead. Warzone content creator Westie exemplified this in response to the playlist news, saying, “You took away big map quads? I guess that means no games for next week. What a great decision.” This also isn’t the first time players have spoken out about playlist rotations. The Season 2 Reloaded playlist rotation in March was labeled as the “worst one yet” as it restricted player counts for all maps. Then, during Season 4 in May, players also voiced concerns after the playlist rotation removed Ashika Island from the map pool. Another of the biggest problems with the playlist system is that some game mode and squad size options get overlooked. CoD streamer HunterTV pointed out that Rebirth Island solos haven’t been available since May 1, over two months. So there’s no guarantee when Urzikstan Quads will return.

Warzone players furious as lag makes game “unplayable” – Dexerto
Warzone players furious as lag makes game “unplayable” ActivisionWarzone players labeled Warzone as “unplayable” at the beginning of Season 4 Reloaded. After two weeks, players are still reporting similar issues. Season 4 Reloaded was lauded by the Warzone community for addressing several community-requested issues, such as Serpentine Perk and Radar Jammer nerfs. However, the update did not launch without its fair share of issues. Large updates always come with the chance of adding unintended bugs. Players are suffering from an issue that causes stuttering and dropped frames. Warzone players are reporting the stuttering an issue at an alarming rate on Caldera specifically. Warzone labeled as “unplayable” due to stuttering bug At the beginning of Season 4 reloaded, players reported Warzone dropping frames and causing massive lag spikes whenever a ping was used. One player claimed, “hate to say it, but don’t expect it ever to get fixed.” Two weeks later, A player claimed, “Warzone has been unplayable for the past few days.” They reported an issue that causes frame drops and stuttering at random points during matches. They shared a clip highlighting the stutter issue. The reported issue appears to be a different problem than the ping bug. One Reddit user said, “It’s bad, especially on Caldera. Matches there are much laggier than those on rebirth island or fortune’s keep.” A second player stated, “Caldera has terrible lag for some players; it’s the same thing for me. I can’t play without it skipping, and I have never gotten below 90 ping.” Several players pointed out that the issue may be related to network problems. As of writing, Activision has not addressed the ping glitch or the stuttering issue. Neither bug appeared on Raven Software’s Trello or was included in official patch notes. Hopefully, both issues will be addressed in the next update.

Warzone players furious as killstreak is “completely useless” after nerf – Dexerto
Warzone players furious as killstreak is “completely useless” after nerf ActivisionCall of Duty Warzone players are a bit split on one killstreak as some believe it has become “completely useless” after a recent nerf. Despite being separate from Call of Duty’s multiplayer mode, and even having it’s own specific buffs and nerfs for weapons, Warzone has incorporated plenty of classic CoD features in its own way. That includes killstreaks, but you don’t need three kills for a UAV, so to speak. The streaks are, instead, purchased from buy stations, found in loot crates, or picked up from an enemy when you’ve killed them off. The devs have rarely tweaked the streaks, but were thrust into action recently to nerf the Precision Airstrike in Season 2. Instead of just an on-screen banner warning you that an airstrike was inbound to your area, you can now see the flight path of the bombers – as well as the blast zone. Warzone players annoyed by Precision Airstrike nerf According to some players, that has made the killstreak “useless” and they’re annoyed by the change. “Is it just me or with the addition of showing the blast zone of precision airstrikes now, the kill streak has become pretty much useless in Warzone,” said one annoyed fan who got plenty to agree. “I think there should only be the Audible callout though. IIRC, early Warzone had almost no warning, just an audible callout for an air strike, and I enjoyed that as it required good placement to get the kill,” another agreed. “I don’t think they could the notifications right so instead they added this. Such bull lol,” another said. “I’m not finding PAs useful anymore. If people know exactly what the damage range is well in advance of the strike, they’ll always be able to get out of the way in time,” commented another. Some players argued otherwise, however, claiming that the killstreak works best as a finishing move on downed players rather than trying to use it instead of a gun. “Get the down and the finish with the strike. I’m okay with that. Would rather have it like it is now than running a mile a way and still getting killed by it lol,” said one. “It’s objectively better now. PAs are way too common anyway. This balances that,” another added. It’s unlikely that the devs will make changes anytime soon, given the new notification was only added a short time ago, but it might be something to consider later down the line.

Warzone invisibility exploit returns yet again in Warzone’s latest update – Dexerto
Warzone invisibility exploit returns yet again in Warzone’s latest update Activision / TreyarchWarzone’s Season 4 Reloaded update is well underway, but it now looks like the infamous invisibility glitch has returned with a vengeance. The invisibility glitch isn’t exactly a new feature by any means — in fact, the exploit has reared its ugly head throughout the seasons. Previously, this nightmarish glitch returned when Armored Trucks were added to regular modes, but it now looks like the invisibility glitch is back. So far, several players have reported issues of being shot by invisible players. The glitch has also been captured and uploaded to Twitter via Call of Duty content creator JGOD, where fans have been voicing their frustrations. In the clip above, JGOD said that he could hear footsteps but couldn’t pinpoint where the enemy player was. After effortlessly killing JGOD’s teammate, the invisible player ran up to the Call of Duty streamer and began to melee him. Read More: Best OTs 9 Warzone class loadout – With no way to counter this exploit, JGOD was simply eliminated and his squad’s chances of winning were instantly snuffed out. Quite how this bug has managed to make its way back remains to be seen, but it seems that players are already exploiting this game-breaking exploit once again. Warzone has always had its fair share of bugs and exploits. From the game-breaking Stim glitch through to the demon gun visual bug, every update seems to resurrect a previously fixed problem. If winning a game of Warzone wasn’t tricky enough as it is, facing lobbies of invisible players makes it nearly impossible. Read More: Warzone finally nerfing Dead Silence – Raven has yet to make an official statement on the matter, but with less than 24 hours after the Season 4 Reloaded update was deployed, many fans are rightfully very angry. We’ll keep you in the loop as soon as a fix is made!

Warzone players furious as “horrible” sun glare returns in Season 5 update – Dexerto
Warzone players furious as “horrible” sun glare returns in Season 5 update ActivisionWarzone players have criticized changes made to Caldera’s lighting with Season 5, suggesting Raven devs need to revert the adjustments and move away from the new “horrible” visuals. There has been a surprising amount of discussion surrounding Caldera’s lighting and visuals since it dropped back in late 2021. Replacing Verdansk, which itself received some lighting complaints, Caldera’s luscious jungles and sun-soaked rural villages should have been a guaranteed winner. However, complaints have focussed on the map’s lighting, with some saying the sun is far too bright and players are too hard to discern in the green and brown environment. While the complaints have fallen away since Caldera dropped, they have returned amid Season 5 lighting changes. Warzone players slam “horrible lighting” after Season 5 update One player claimed “horrible lighting is back again”, attaching a screenshot showing considerable sun glare over Caldera. Another asked why Raven “ruin everything”, with a near identical screenshot showing incredibly bright sunlight obscuring the map itself. A third echoed the feeling, saying: “I’m not the only one that can’t see a single thing with the new lighting on Caldera right… The entire north part of the map is just a haze of white I cannot distinguish or see anything or anyone. Can they fix the lighting or revert it to the previous seasons?” The number of upvotes on the relevant posts suggested a large portion of the player base concurs but, as of the time of writing, Raven has not responded or signaled any intentions to revert the changes. They do appear to have made significant changes to Caldera’s visuals, but there is no mention of lighting changes in the Season 5 patch notes. We could yet see more changes to adjust the lighting in accordance with players’ wishes but, with Warzone 2 quickly closing in, players should be reassured by the new map Infinity Ward are said to be working on.

Warzone players furious as “garbage” hackers go all out ahead of RICOCHET launch – Dexerto
Warzone players furious as “garbage” hackers go all out ahead of RICOCHET launch ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players believe that there are more hackers than ever in the battle royale, claiming they’re trying to get it out of their system ahead of the RICOCHET anti-cheat. Warzone players have encountered cheaters and hacks in plenty of different forms ever since the battle royale first launched back in March of 2020. Over time, and especially during the Black Ops Cold War integration, players have gotten increasingly annoyed by the rise of hackers especially as each big update appeared to bring in a flux of new cheaters. With the Call of Duty: Vanguard integration – which will bring the RICOCHET anti-cheat with it – many players are hoping that’ll be the end of the cheating epidemic in Warzone. However, until then, it appears as if things might be as bad as ever. As players have been getting their last few weekends of grinding in before the launch of Warzone Pacific, and the Caldera map, on December 8, they claim that cheating has gotten worse. “Warzone is a cheat festival at the minute,” said one player. “At the moment Warzone is a free game to cheat (in) it looks like. They are not banning blatant cheaters at all.” Other Warzone players quickly chimed in with horror stories about their recent experiences too, calling the game a “joke” in its current state as “garbage” players have taken over. “I had a hacker on my team yesterday and he said he hacks because everyone else was,” said one. Others suggested that hackers are going all out before Verdansk disappears and their cheats are potentially useless. “Ricochet anti-cheat will hopefully clear up quite a decent amount of this cheating next week,” added another. Of course, it’s difficult to prove if there are many more cheaters in-game than usually, but players can only go off what they come up against. As has been the case for a while, they’ll be hoping RICOCHET clears things up, but it remains to be seen if they’ll do so.

Warzone players furious as fan-favorite mode removed again – Dexerto
Warzone players furious as fan-favorite mode removed again ActivisionWarzone players have been left fuming at developers Raven Software as the latest playlist update has once again removed a fan-favorite mode, causing many to no longer want to play. With every playlist update in Warzone, certain modes are added or removed in an attempt to keep things fresh. This could mean the likes of Mini BR and Plunder getting added in while modes like Lockdown or Resurgence Quads get removed. While with every change there are going to be some players upset, but usually it doesn’t impact a particularly large portion of the player base. This time, though, they’ve removed BR Duos, one of the most popular modes in the game — and players aren’t happy. Warzone removes battle royale duos In the February 22 playlist update, Duos was removed from the regular Battle Royale rotation, leaving just solos, trios, and quads. Instead, duos will only be in Resurgence and Mini BR, much to the chagrin of players. One said that they’re “p*ssed” duos is being removed, while others called it “ridiculous” as they primarily play BR Duos. Over on Reddit, people were annoyed too. “This was one of the things I was really glad they stopped doing,” said Penthakee. “I almost always play duos with a friend, I don’t care about any other game mode, resurgence, event, special mode. Well, let’s wait until next week I guess then.” The top comment on the post called the devs “stupid motherf**kers.” With hundreds of comments across the internet and BR Duos actually out of the rotation for two weeks now, Raven may be forced to change plans and give in to pressure from their players, especially if they see their player counts drop. After these two weeks, Season 2 Reloaded is expected to start, so we may see Duos come back as well as some more significant changes across the board.

Warzone players furious as devs remove one-shot sniper but hackers can still use it – Dexerto
Warzone players furious as devs remove one-shot sniper but hackers can still use it ActivisionWarzone 2 players have been left frustrated by the devs removing the one-shot Shillelagh sniper rifle, especially now hackers have been able to unlock it regardless. Sniping has always played a key role in any Call of Duty game, and that’s been no different in Warzone. Snipers dominated the original battle royale due to the size of the maps and their ability to one-shot players. That has changed ever so slightly in Warzone 2, with snipers having their power turned down just a bit. Though, the one-shot snipers have re-appeared at times amid rumors that they may make a full-time return in future seasons. While players had previously been able to build one-shot snipers due to buggy attachments, the devs added one of their own – the Shillelagh – for a limited-time St Patricks Day event. Now that’s come to a close, players aren’t too pleased. Warzone 2 players annoyed one-shot St Patricks day sniper has been removed As noted, the Shillelagh – which was a twist on the Victus XMR sniper – was only ever going to be around for a short space of time. Though, its removal has caused some headaches as cheaters have been able to hack it into matches despite other players not being able to have it. “A buddy and I ran into a team that both had it on Ashika earlier. We wiped them in CQB and then realized they had the blueprint. We were very confused,” said one player. Others were just annoyed that the powerful sniper had been taken away. “I like how this is their response to the community wanting snipers to be viable again, a big middle finger,” added another. “I hated the idea of it at first, but really came around. It was just really fun to have half the lobby dropping in the same place,” another commented. When it comes to hackers keeping the gun alive, players noted that it could become pretty easy to ban them as a result of them using it. That would be a real result for some players.

Warzone players furious as cheating has gotten ‘as bad as Verdansk’ again – Dexerto
Warzone players furious as cheating has gotten ‘as bad as Verdansk’ again ActivisionCall of Duty Warzone players have been left furious already as cheaters are “running rampant” and ruining the battle royale for many. It’s no secret that Wazone has had its fair share of issues with cheaters over the last few years. When Verdansk was coming to an end, cheaters were at their absolute peak, forcing a number of high-profile payers to find something else to play until an anti-cheat was implemented. That anti-cheat – which we know now as Ricochet – has been somewhat successful over the last few years. Hackers have been constantly banned in ban waves and there have been measures implemented so they couldn’t do damage to others while being suspected of cheating. However, cheaters do still sneak through. Some are obviously blatant and that’s what has got player’s backs up in Urzkistan already, as some of the most blatant cheaters ever are managing to run wild. Warzone players tired as cheaters run rampant already That’s right, the spin bots and aim bots are back in a big way. A number of Warzone players have taken to social media to complain about them, showing off video proof of cheaters picking them off in the sky without breaking a sweat. “I’m struggling to find a reason to boot up Warzone when it seems like every other match there’s someone blatantly cheating. What’s the point of playing when it’s like this?” quizzed Redditor Courseheir. “Too many kill cams where the guy is just tracking me through walls with no live pings. Back to WZ1 hacking days,” another said. “It’s interesting that their anti-cheat systems don’t work. Such b*stards fuck people up and I’m playing honestly sitting in shadow ban,” another chimed in. Some players stated that they‘ve seen a few suspect players but haven’t personally experienced any as blatant as some of the examples given. It remains to be seen if Activision will continue to clamp down on cheaters with additional ban waves, but it seems like they’re going to be needed already.

Warzone players furious as cheaters avoid bans while voice chat is targeted – Dexerto
Warzone players furious as cheaters avoid bans while voice chat is targeted ActivisionCall of Duty Warzone players have hit out at Activision for seemingly banning players who abuse voice and text chat more regularly than they are actual hackers and cheaters. Cheaters have always found a way to worm themselves into games of Call of Duty, however, they’ve never quite taken over things like they have over the last few years of Warzone. God mode cheats, wall hacks, and aimbotters got so bad in the original Warzone that the devs had to spring into action. Ban waves helped, but the Ricochet anti-cheat was also born out of the issues, which was tasked with putting cheaters in their place. Despite the clampdowns, hackers have still been able to run wild in Al-Mazrah, much to the annoyance of players. However, they’ve gotten even more annoyed now that it appears cheaters are being ignored as the devs ban voice chatters more regularly. Warzone players want another crackdown on cheaters A number of players have called out Activision and the Warzone devs on social media, claiming it’s a “joke” that cheaters are still able to ruin games of the battle royale. “People don’t get banned for cheating, but they can get banned for cursing in game chat. Good job Activision,” said Redditor MoConnors. “How the fuck did we get to this point? Like gonna have AI making sure you’re nice to people even if you get shot through a wall by an aimbot. Pathetic,” another agreed. “You can cheat all day. Just don’t be mean on voice chat. What the fuck is going on,” another quizzed. “The fact that all WZ2 is rife with hackers and maps look garbage is more than enough to say trashtivision don’t care,” commented another. Obviously, plenty of voice and text chat bans are much needed, given how toxic things can get after a kill in-game. However, players believe that priorities for bans are messed up. Though, who knows if that’ll change anytime soon.

Warzone players furious as “broken” Sykov pistol looks worse than the DMR – Dexerto
Warzone players furious as “broken” Sykov pistol looks worse than the DMR ActivisionThe Sykov pistol is finally in Warzone, however, not everyone is too happy with it and some players believe it is worse than the DMR and FFAR rifles when used with the Akimbo perk. Back in February, a handful of Warzone players were able to get their hands on the unreleased Sykov pistol in games of Plunder. It was evident from there that the pistol was pretty strong, but given it wasn’t released, fans figured it was still subject to balancing. Well, fast forward to April and the pistol has finally been released into Modern Warfare and Warzone, and players have rushed to unlock it and start building loadouts around it. The pre-launch balancing that players were requesting hasn’t happened, and as a result, the akimbo version of the Sykov has become rather deadly. That’s left plenty of players miffed already and some have called for changes. Plenty of clips of that the Sykov ripping through enemies have already been shared on social media, but one from Redditor Eloxify caught the eye of many. In the quick highlight, the Warzone player uses the akimbo Sykov to rip through a squad of enemy foes in such a way that you’d be forgiven for thinking the pistols are actually SMGs. The Redditor admitted themselves that the weapon was “broken” but others were left fuming. “The f**king player base called this and knew it was broken back when it was leaked. How in the f**k did they not know and adjust it!!” said CavScout00. Other players also voiced their dislike of the weapon, pointing out that it’s currently stronger than some of the best assault rifles in Warzone. “Has a Time-to-kill potential of 245 or something. Pretty much HALF the time it takes an FFAR to kill you,” said BrainDevelopment. Another, TheDuck33, added: “Finally a weapon worse than the DMR. So bad it makes the FFAR look like trash. Never would have imagined.” Some players also questioned how the devs could add yet another set of “overpowered” akimbo weapons given all the headaches that the Diamatti’s gave players not too long ago. It remains to be seen just how quickly the Warzone devs will get around to balancing the weapon, and even though it’s only early days, players aren’t happy at all.

Warzone players furious after removal of another popular mode – Dexerto
Warzone players furious after removal of another popular mode ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players have been left asking where one of their favorite modes has disappeared to, after it was removed from the playlist. Since it launched in March, Warzone has been a hit with Call of Duty players who want to take their usual 5v5 multiplayer skills and hone them in a bigger, slightly more intense arena. Warzone allows players to play in the classic battle royale mode where it is all about being the last team standing, as well as Plunder – a mode where its all about picking up money and surviving. Plunder, despite being a spin on what battle royale players are used to playing, has been a hit though – seeing as players can rack up huge kill totals and still have multiple chances to come out as winners. Though, it has undergone a change that fans aren’t too happy about. Warzone players have logged on to find that the usual Plunder Quads mode has been removed from rotation – replaced instead with only Plunder Duos, in addition to normal Warzone quads, trios, and solo modes. Many who were left disappointed by the discovery have made their voices heard on social media, demanding answers from Infinity Ward and the immediate return of Plunder Quads. “Why take out plunder quads?” asked one fan. Another added: “Please for the love of all that is holy, bring back #plunderquads.” Why take out plunder quads? Its the most enjoyable mode for a casual https://t.co/TXlSWu2Mcu have a shit load right now..especially with being able to respawn more than once.Get shot by someone who plays 12 hours a day on the br mode after 5 mins is not gonna keep ppl interested — Rob Brown (@ayatollahrob) April 17, 2020 @Activision Please for the love of all that is holy, bring back #plunderquads . It was literally the only reason I bought the full game… — sam_saalfeld (@saalfeld_sam) April 17, 2020 One of the worst changes so far… All you need is Plunder Quads, duos is pointless.. Guarantee this gets reverted in 24 hours https://t.co/CUAvIVfLs1 — David Molloy (@iAmDavidMolloy) April 17, 2020 Why would you take away Plunder Quads and trio??? Why not make plunder its own playlist? Not I can’t run it with my bro’s. Thanks a lot https://t.co/XnyM8Na2W0 — Maybe: JB (@JoBrier23) April 17, 2020 The mode was removed as a part of a playlist update on April 16 as Infinity Ward tweeted that they had heard the fans’ call for the return of normal Warzone trios. Of course, it seems as if they’ve removed the wrong mode in the process and might have to revert the change in order to appease the demand of fans. However, until the developers make a decision one way or another, it remains to be seen if Plunder Quads will be making a return in the future.

Warzone players fuming as Warzone Mobile gets bigger lobby sizes – Dexerto
Warzone players fuming as Warzone Mobile gets bigger lobby sizes ActivisionWarzone players are unhappy as its mobile counterpart is set to have a bigger lobby size than its PC and console lobbies, with players claiming the Mobile version is getting features players have been asking for. Warzone Mobile is nearing its long-awaited launch on March 21, and brings with it a full-on Warzone experience for mobile players, complete with cross-progression shared with other platforms. From Verdansk and Rebirth Island appearances to 6v6 modes like TDM and Domination also making an appearance with all the cosmetics you can normally earn in regular Warzone, the Mobile version isn’t pulling punches. However, it seems players are not happy that the Mobile version will be introducing 120 player lobbies, unlike Warzone’s current lobbies at 100, leaving them furious at In a post made by CharlieIntel, they listed out the playlists for the upcoming Warzone Mobile, however, many players were quick to notice that the Battle Royal lobbies on Verdansk will hold up to 120 players. “Mobile eating better than us rn,” a player said of the lobby size increase. “120 players for mobile phones. 100 players for consoles and PCs. Make that make sense,” another said. “Mobile got everything PC and console players begging for months for but what we get is a new battle rifle,” a player said of Activision seemingly showing more love to its mobile port. “More players in mobile lobbies… actually crazy.” Warzone used to field lobbies larger than 100, with Warzone 2’s Al Mazrah once boasting 150 player lobbies. In fact, Verdansk original was meant to support 150 players at its release. However, after updates over the years, different maps were slowly reduced to 100 players. And even the current Urzikstan only supports up to 100 players at a time.

Warzone players frustrated with new gas mask issue causing losses – Dexerto
Warzone players frustrated with new gas mask issue causing losses ActivisionCoD Warzone’s gas mask is somehow finding new ways to kill players instead of saving them with gamers frustrated by this new issue. Even though CoD’s premiere battle royale experience is now into Season 4 Reloaded and two years on from the game’s debut, the controversial gas mask is finding new ways to stir up trouble. For the longest time, fans of the game have been left in a state of panic when they’re near gas with a mask in their possession, as they know that if a firefight ensues, the game’s mask removal system may cause a fight to go south quickly. Gas masks have been refined and tuned over the seasons, but now a new problem has cropped up that can get players killed without, again, doing anything wrong. Gas masks coughing up new problems in Warzone According to a Warzone Reddit post, Raven Software “can’t get the mask right,” and this is a combination of long-standing issues as well as a new one. meme-viewerno said: “Thanks devs, now every time I go into the gas, even with a gas mask on, I take a tick of damage and make a loud ass cough sound so the enemy knows exactly where I am, even though I’m wearing a gas mask. Just take out the stupid animation please it seems like they’re never going to get it right.” So even taking the right precautions and having the mask in place, the game will for some reason still register gas damage, which obviously causes a loud, obnoxious cough – giving away your position to anyone nearby. It’s clearly happening to other people too, with the top comment reading: “Agree! It is so annoying,” said the top comment, and Another user added: ” Dude, two days ago I intentionally stayed in the gas so my operator would put the mask on and then I could shoot people running into zone from inside the gas, instead I never put it on for the 3 seconds I was standing in gas and taking gas damage. Decided to just go in zone and fight, the instant I’m outside the gas the mask puts itself on and I lose the gunfight, like what?” With the new gas mask toggle option on the way, the deaths caused by the erratic piece of equipment might finally be coming to an end.

Warzone players frustrated with multiple Red Door glitches – Dexerto
Warzone players frustrated with multiple Red Door glitches ActivisionWith Season four of Warzone the game was introduced to Red Doors. These doors take players to some rare loot that can’t be found anywhere else. However, players are getting annoyed with all the bugs that have come with Red Doors. Most of the community has loved the addition of Red Doors to Warzone as it allows players a fun way to get extremely rare loot. These doors are spread throughout Verdansk but there aren’t a ton of them just sitting around waiting for a team. Of course, with Warzone there have always been bugs when something new is added, and Red Doors are no exception. Red Door performs magic trick One bug involving Red Doors had players confused when it simply redeployed them in the sky instead of taking them to a room with loot. In one of the latest glitches this Red Door turned into Houdini. A video posted by ‘nycism’ shows the player and their squad finding a Red Door and opening it. As the team is waiting for it to open to walk through the door has other plans and vanishes into thin air. This left players confused and disappointed because the Red Door loot is extremely valuable, with Advanced UAVs, Armor Satchels, Durable Gas Masks, and more. Sadly, this isn’t the only issue with Red Doors in Warzone. Another glitch allows players to get even more rare loot than intended. Players get double loot from Red Door In this video posted on YouTube by ‘JotaJota STI’ he shows off a new bug that benefited his squad in a big way. This shows the player and his teammate finding a Red Door but instead of immediately following up his teammate he waited for the door to close and reopen it. You see the player run through the door and end up in an unlooted room while his teammate is in a completely different location and has access to the rare loot. Although this would be a really cool thing for players to be able to do, it is seemingly a glitch as the door is intended to take players to the same location. For now, it is unknown if the devs are aware of these bugs, but they’ll want to get a handle on them sooner rather than later.

Warzone players frustrated with glitch that removes Modern Warfare camos – Dexerto
Warzone players frustrated with glitch that removes Modern Warfare camos ActivisionWarzone players are starting to get extremely frustrated with a glitch that’s preventing them from putting on Modern Warfare camos they earned in the game. Call of Duty’s battle royale has features integrated from the past three titles. This means that progress earned from those games are usable in Warzone. This includes weapons, attachments, operator skins, and — arguably everyone’s favorite — camos. However, a new update is causing some issues for Warzone players as they seemed to have lost access to all of their weapon swag. Warzone players can’t use Modern Warfare camos In a Reddit post by ‘Horses-Mane’ people are starting to notice that their camos from Modern Warfare are no longer in the gunsmith. Horses Mane is extremely frustrated with this as they report, “My obsidian M4 camo that almost cost me two relationships is gone along with all my gold camos.” Another Redditor replied with the exact same problem: “Same here Damascus doesn’t load in-game, it just switches to default automatically.” Warzone received a minor update, which is giving people access to a free skin and Battle Pass Tier skips. There was even another post with people complaining about their “hard-earned” MW camos just disappearing for no reason. User ‘_-bart-_’ said that the game is completely broken as they rattled off a list of problems since this mini-update. They included that they are lagging in every game, can’t slide cancel, and of course, can’t use camos from Modern Warfare. Unfortunately, there is no way to tell what actually happened but Activision has noted this on their end. So until a fix is out, players will need to find another camo that they like while this gets resolved.

Warzone fans fed up as frustrating menu bug prevents them from changing Operator – Dexerto
Warzone fans fed up as frustrating menu bug prevents them from changing Operator ActivisionThe Warzone community is growing tired of yet another problem in the game’s menus as Operator skins appear bugged, preventing players from changing their current look. Outside of the core game itself, Warzone has seen its fair share of issues just in the menus. Recently, players have been frustrated with the Season 6 patch and its glitchy menu update, for instance. Now, a more alarming problem is coming into focus. With each big update comes new cosmetic items and flashy skins, whether it be in the Battle Pass or included in seasonal events. While hackers can get their hands on them early, the average player now has a chance of being locked out from their purchases altogether. Operator menus are bugging out in the latest update, as more and more players are being left without an option to change their appearance. Various characters and their skins now appear greyed out in Warzone’s menus. As a result, players are left with limited options, despite what they may have paid for with cash or grinded to unlock the hard way. This bug appears to impact Operators across both Black Ops and Modern Warfare, with seemingly no characters safe from being locked out at random. For some, this is a new error only just popping up in Season 6. For others, however, it’s allegedly been an issue for quite some time. “This has been bugging me for a week or two now,” one player chimed in on Reddit. “Been dealing with this since Season 5,” another explained. “Some skins I purchased cannot be accessed because of this bulls***.” While it may be a longstanding issue for some, hopefully it won’t be around for much longer. Raven Software is on the case with a fix already scheduled, according to their public Trello board. There’s no telling exactly when the fix might come into effect, nor if it will do the trick right away. Rest assured though, the devs are well aware that you might not have access to your skins at this point in time.

Warzone players frustrated by unfair deaths due to bugged “one-way” railings – Dexerto
Warzone players frustrated by unfair deaths due to bugged “one-way” railings ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone is filled with bugs, but this may be one of the more irritating ones to hit Verdansk. It prevents players from shooting through the stair railing, while letting enemies comfortably do so. With every Warzone update there are bound to be some issues that arise as people drop in. And one such issue is catching the eye (and the ire) of players after being posted on Reddit. There’s been a newly discovered bug in Verdansk that will hurt you if caught on the wrong side. This could possibly put yourself at a huge disadvantage or an advantage, so here is what’s going on with this latest bug. One-way railings in Warzone In this installment of Warzone bugs, a player can not shoot through a railing in a staircase if that player is standing behind it. However a player standing on the other side of it, or at the bottom of the staircase, will be able to beam you through it and you never had a shot to begin with. This could change the way people position themselves when it comes to holding down a building. Taking the high ground and looking down the staircase could cause some of your bullets to ghost and not hit the person you are shooting at. One Redditor wasn’t too thrilled to see this bug and noted that you can not shoot through a railing, but you can shoot through nearly every wall in the game. Other members of the community were not surprised to see this bug pop up and said, “Are you saying we should have fun and realistic games to play? Are you high or something?” This does raise the discussion of realistic versus video game, but even though the railing mostly has gaps in between each bar players think that it should at least be wall-bangable. This would do reduced damage but would still allow a fair gun fight regardless of what side of the railing you are on.

Warzone players frustrated by “terrible” FPS issues ruining Season 4 games – Dexerto
Warzone players frustrated by “terrible” FPS issues ruining Season 4 games ActivisionWarzone Season 4 has only just gotten underway, yet, players have already grown frustrated with the new FPS issues that occur at the start of every match, no matter how good your setup might be. The start of Warzone Season 4 has brought about some big changes to Call of Duty’s popular battle royale, with new POI’s being added, as well as new weapons, and changes to the current arsenal of guns. As ever, the update has been warmly received by players who are desperate for new content, however, it hasn’t gone swimmingly. Raven Software have already had to remove the new armored trucks due to the return of the invisible player glitch, and fans have been annoyed by the FPS issues at the start of games. It doesn’t matter if you have a top-of-the-line gaming PC, the FPS issues are seemingly hitting everybody as soon as the game starts. You’ll see your frames drop down to the low teens, and maybe into the single digits if you’re unlucky. “I have to pause/press ESC at the start of every match now to get fps above 60,” said one player. “I’m getting massive stuttering but no fps drop. And yeah, the game is in a terrible state after this update,” added another. Some theorized that it’s because of the Satellite cutscene that now plays at the start of games, but others have been experiencing the issues inside of the pre-game warm-up lobby. How to fix Warzone Season 4 FPS issues Now, if you do run into the issue, it’s not quite game-breaking. You can seemingly fix it by opening the menus and then exiting back to the game. Other players have been alt-tabbing out of the game for a few seconds and then opening it back up to fix things. Of course, these both waste time that would be better used planning your drop, but here are a few fixes that have worked for others. Hit ESC twice before the game starts – Pause the game, wait five seconds, and then unpause – Go back to your PC home screen, wait a few seconds, and then re-open Warzone – Change your graphics settings in some way, apply the change, and then it should be fixed – Now, these are all temporary changes that will address things for a game or two, but the problems will more than likely persist. It remains to be seen if Raven will roll out an update to address things or if they’ll persist for a little while longer.

Warzone players frustrated by “superman” jump glitch ruining games – Dexerto
Warzone players frustrated by “superman” jump glitch ruining games Activision / Warner Bros.Warzone players are constantly battling it out to become the last standing. However, an old glitch, the “superman jump” is frustrating and ruining people’s games. While playing a game of Warzone, you need to be precise and have great positioning so you can take ideal fights. A glitch that has been around for quite some time is the “superman jump” glitch. While this bug can let you jump long distances it can also cause your character model to fall and you have no control over it. Instead of popping the parachute, you get a weird animation that makes you look like Superman as you fall down to the ground. This has been around for months and is now ruining games in Verdansk. Warzone players annoyed by “superman jump” bug The “superman jump” bug can be very frustrating or useful depending on the circumstance it is used in. However, things took a bad turn for one player and the community wants to see this fixed. Warzone YouTuber Expel was playing a game of Iron Trials. He was down to a 1v1 to determine the game when the unfortunate glitch struck him. As you can see from his video, he is on top of the building and getting ready to gun the last enemy to win the game. However, he got to close the to edge and jumped causing the bug to bring him to the ground. The game should have let him walk toward the end of the building and start shooting, but this glitch thought he was walking off and pulled his parachute making him fall to the ground. This led him to give up his great positioning and eventually losing the one-on-one gunfight. There has been no word from Activision if they are aware of this, so players need to be extra cautious when near the edge.

Warzone players slam Raven for “ruining” Rebirth Resurgence mode – Dexerto
Warzone players slam Raven for “ruining” Rebirth Resurgence mode ActivisionWarzone’s recent playlist update has left players slamming the devs for “ruining” Rebirth Resurgence, which has once again been updated to Resurgence Extreme. With the arrival of the September 30 playlist update, the fan-favorite Resurgence mode was replaced with Resurgence Extreme. With fast-paced gameplay in mind, the updated mode now supports up to 64 players, rather than the usual 40 for Rebirth Island. Going off the name and player count being raised alone, you can already grasp an idea of how the lobbies are in full anarchy on such a small map. For most of the regular Resurgence enjoyers, they’re not fond of the playlist update at all. For a lot of Warzone players, the Rebirth Island modes are the only appealing part of the game. While you’d expect players would be happy with an update to the modes, they’re not enthusiastic about the changes. Posts complaining about the extreme mode have since gained traction on Warzone’s subreddit, with fans hitting at the devs for “ruining Resurgence.” “I’ve been playing Resurgence exclusively for months now, and now they changed it with this “extreme” mode. It’s practically unplayable,” one player said. “Like seriously Raven, why do you have to keep chopping and changing with the game modes we love, just keep this as a separate mode, I hate it.” The previous edition of Resurgence Extreme hosted 99 players on the small map, and though this time around it was lowered to 64, another Reddit post highlighted their concerns with it still being too high. “They already tried this sh*t with 100 players on rebirth. It was awful. 64 is fewer but still too many for the map. You cant land anywhere without immediate engagement. In my opinion, it’s f**king stupid,” they said. While some have praised Raven for keeping things fresh with the updates to modes, the majority are unhappy. Fortunately, the playlist update will roll around and we’ll likely be saying goodbye to Resurgence Extreme soon enough. As the player count has already been lowered from 99 in the previous version of Resurgence Extreme, maybe, Raven will take the suggestions of lowing the player count once again for the next time we see the mode return.

Warzone players frustrated by “pay-to-lose” Skull Collector bundle – Dexerto
Warzone players frustrated by “pay-to-lose” Skull Collector bundle ActivisionA new Warzone weapon blueprint bundle is being dubbed “pay-to-lose” after players discovered that the gun doesn’t work in the battle royale mode. The Vanguard weapon integration has given Warzone players plenty of new loadouts to experiment with, but it seems that there is a major problem with one of the game’s blueprints. While Warzone weapon blueprints invariably offer unique camo designs and tracers packs, it’s rare that a blueprint actively gives players a disadvantage. Well, that’s exactly what the Skull Collector bundle does when players use one of the blueprints in Warzone. Not only does this particular blueprint give players a huge disadvantage in the game, but it can also lead to some incredibly frustrating firefights. In fact, those that have bought the Skull Collector bundle weapon have dubbed it “pay-to-lose.” Warzone weapon blueprint is “pay-to-lose” The Skull Collector Pro Pack was released as part of Warzone’s Pacific Season 1 update, giving players the chance to purchase cosmetics that are tailor-made for the jungle canopy of Caldera. Those who purchase the bundle will gain seven items, with one of them being a Legendary Weapon Blueprint for the AS44 Assault Rifle. The “Acinonyx” blueprint features mesh netting and has been coated in dark green camouflage. While this may seem like a great choice for those that wish to hide in Caldera jungle areas, a number of players are encountering a strange issue that renders the blueprint completely unusable. One player has uploaded a short clip that appears to showcase how the “Acinonyx” blueprint simply doesn’t appear in the game. In fact, the player’s Operator appears to hold an invisible gun. If this wasn’t bad enough, it appears that the AS44 can’t even be fired when this blueprint is equipped. Instead, the player is simply forced to watch as his enemy guns him down for a quick and easy kill. The bundle currently costs $20 and comes with three separate versions. While we currently don’t know which version causes this problem, the PS Store bundle seemed unaffected when we purchased the bundle. Hopefully, Raven Software can fix this issue quickly.
