Warzone players bash “useless” update that does nothing to fight cheaters ActivisionWarzone players have hit out at the newest update in the battle royale’s fight against cheaters, with some calling it “useless” for most players. When Warzone was overrun by cheaters, plenty of Call of Duty fans begged for an anti-cheat system. They got their wish when the battle royale devs introduced RICOCHET, but there are still plenty of issues. Most recently, PC players who were using cheats had been able to disguise themselves as console users through Xbox Game Pass. While the devs cracked down on that practice, hackers have still caused chaos. As a result, the devs have continued to roll out ban waves and anti-cheat updates. In their newest bid to tackle the problems, they shut down some lobby scraping apps. These apps allow players to check which players are in the lobby, making boosting easier. Now, RICOCHET will kick anyone who it detects using these apps. However, players aren’t sold on it. “If it doesn’t fight aimbotters and wallhackers, I couldn’t care less,” one player bemoaned. “Who the f*ck cares about stream sniping. What a useless update,” another added. On the flip side, some argued that the app was “fine”, hurt no one,” and that their priorities were in the wrong place. “Focus on real cheaters rather than WZ agent app users,” one said. “One of the few tools to combat actual cheaters. This is unbelievable. They will do anything except have a working anti-cheat,” commented another player. Other players urged the devs to focus on other additions, such as console-only lobbies. “Haven’t played in a year but this seems useless. Maybe try combating the hackers? People have been asking for console-only crossplay forever,” one chimed in. Some fans have also asked for fixes to the incorrect shadow bans that have been rolled out over the last few weeks. “It’s a broken system. It only hurts the legit paying players that are wrongfully put into restricted matchmaking over and over,” another said.

Warzone players bash “ridiculous” new weapon unlock grind for Vanguard – Dexerto
Warzone players bash “ridiculous” new weapon unlock grind for Vanguard Activision70 levels to unlock all of the Vanguard weapon attachments is a lot of playtime per weapon — and for some Warzone players that is not an attainable goal. Call of Duty: Vanguard has 38 primary weapons. It takes an average of six hours to fully max out one weapon with all of its attachments. Under that assumption, to reach level 70 on all weapons it will take approximately 228 hours or nine and a half days of gameplay. There may be faster ways to unlock weapon attachments, but for casual players, 228 hours of gameplay just grinding weapon attachments is a tall order. In Call of Duty: Cold War the max primary weapon was 31. Warzone fans are fed up with falling behind other players or being held back from utilizing every Vanguard gun to its max potential. This especially rings true for the recently added Marco 5 and H4 Blixen. Warzone players slam “ridiculous” weapon grind Reddit user tcarnie made a Reddit thread and said, “I play a fair amount and have had the game since day one, but I have not had enough time to level the Blixen or the new SMG.” One user commented “meta shifts too often for casual to keep up. Everyone doesn’t have hours a day to grind unlock challenges and level guns to 70.” The comment received 395 upvotes. Another user recommended a solution and said, “the solution I have offered in other threads is to bring back weapon prestige and offered very desirable weapon camos or blueprints to unlock by reaching a new prestige. That way, those who want to grind out weapon level for cool gear are more than welcome to, but the level one to max level grind is shorter and more attainable to the casual player.” This solution would offer both casual and hardcore players a more reasonable method of grinding and enjoying the game. Fortunately for Warzone players that feel left behind, Warzone 2 wipes the slate clean and will be a “separate experience” from the original Warzone. However, there has been no confirmation on the unlock system for Modern Warfare 2. We will provide an update on how much of a grind players will have to undertake when it is confirmed.

Warzone players bamboozled as Red Door brings them to bizarre location – Dexerto
Warzone players bamboozled as Red Door brings them to bizarre location ActivisionWarzone players have lots of ways to get around the map and collect really strong loot. Red Doors have been a great addition to the game that allow you to travel to another area and get rare goodies. But it seems some Red Doors can, instead, take you for a wild ride. Red Doors were introduced to Warzone with the launch of Season 4. Although uncommon, these teleporters can still be found in every game if you have luck on your side. The fast-travel and loot system can definitely impact your game, for instance you can get extremely rare kill streaks and get across the map and into the action. Red Doors take you to another room and from there you can leave and walk back out into the streets of Verdansk. However, one door had some other plans for this team. Red Door says “No loot for you” Twitch streamer ‘miguelmeola’ was playing a Quads game on Verdansk when his team stumbled across a Red Door. Excited for the rare loot the players ran through it, but were a bit confused about where it took them. As you see in the clip, the game decides these players didn’t really need loot and the Red Door sends them falling from the sky. You can hear the players extremely confused about what is happening as they question the game, “why am I in the air?” However, The squad seemed to have high spirits and were laughing about the situation. One player referred to it as the “JK Door” and for the rest of the game the players were laughing about it, while still very confused as to why that happened. This is seemingly a bug as the first circle had not started to close. As of now there have been no other reports of the Red Doors taking players to the sky — but it’s worth being wary about before you enter one.

Warzone players baffled & enraged by Gulag gun with a “spoon” on it – Dexerto
Warzone players baffled & enraged by Gulag gun with a “spoon” on it Activision / PixabayCall of Duty: Warzone received a dose of WW2 realism with Vanguard’s integration, but one gun is a bit too much for modern tastes. A Type 11 in the Gulag, which seems to have a spoon on top, is infuriating players. Iron sights and scopes are critical in a first-person shooter. In Modern Warfare 2019 and Black Ops Cold War, players even preferred certain blueprints over others just to get cleaner iron sights. But World War II was a different time and guns simply functioned differently. A firearms historian took a look at Vanguard’s historical accuracy and had mixed feelings, but was impressed by some homages. One such homage is getting less love from the Warzone community. The Japanese Type 11 is in the Gulag and its historically accurate spoon-shaped hopper handle is testing everyone’s patience. Warzone Gulag gun’s “spoon” infuriates players who put this gun in the gulag and why is there a spoon on it??? pic.twitter.com/3kR5IBQW58 — Speros (@Speros_OG) December 24, 2021 As you can see in the clip, streamer Speros_OG is confused from the moment he takes out his Gulag gun: “What in the F is this? Why do I have a spoon on the top of my gun?” And, after killing his opponent, it turns out that they were also absolutely baffled: “This f**king gun man, what the f**k.” This sentiment was widely echoed by other players as well, with an entire Reddit post devoted to unanimously agreeing “this Gulag gun needs to go.” It seems that no one is happy about the unique weapon, even if it is realistic. When historical accuracy goes wrong To be completely fair, that spoon thing is a real feature. As shown in a look at a real-world Type 11, the light machine gun features a “hopper” on the left side that enables users to pop ammo cartridges in. Like the game, that IRL hopper’s handle is easy to mistake for a spoon. Still, the Type 11’s Gulag variant is undeniably bizarre compared to normal CoD weapons. Instead of aiming down sights at the center, the gun is seemingly placed on the left shoulder with the iron sights set off to the right. While kudos should be given to the developers for realism, players don’t seem thrilled with that novelty when it comes to a life-or-death scenario. For now, they’ll just need to adapt until a Gulag weapons update rolls through.

Warzone players baffled by pay to lose bundle ruining weapon accuracy – Dexerto
Warzone players baffled by pay to lose bundle ruining weapon accuracy ActivisionWarzone fans have been left scratching their heads over a bundle that appears to throw players’ aim completely out of whack, leading to some branding it as “pay to lose.” Warzone’s optics and bundles have been largely well-received by the community, with many praising the unique and ambitious crossovers Activision have been able to implement. We’ve seen John McClane and Rambo make their way into the CoD BR and, most recently, an Attack on Titan crossover to leave Anime fans salivating. While the aim of all of them is to be cosmetic only – meaning they do not offer players who buy them any tangible advantage in-game – some, like the Roze skin, have been criticized as ‘pay to win.’ The Shadow Outcast Shigenori skin, though, falls into the category of ‘pay to lose.’ Redditor Arbeast21 highlighted the problems whilst using the NZ-41 in Warzone. While firing, their crosshairs and bullets do not line up with where they are actually aiming. At first, the player suspected it was a problem with the weapon or its attachments, but corroboration from other Redditors quickly confirmed that the issue occurs when the Shadow Outcast Shigenori skin is equipped. One replied with: “It’s the operator skin most likely I had the same issue!” It appears the problems have been in Warzone for some time, with YouTube videos from December suggesting the skin was to blame. The reticle in the video has the exact same problem as reported on Reddit, so the issue does appear to be caused by the skin, despite some suggestions that the reticle could be glitched. At the time of writing, Warzone’s devs have not responded to the problems but, with players essentially paying 2,400 COD Points for a skin that inhibits accuracy, we expect to see a pretty prompt fix for the problems moving forward. It joins the long list of things Raven need to look into.

Warzone players baffled by mysterious missing building on Caldera map – Dexerto
Warzone players baffled by mysterious missing building on Caldera map ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players have found that the minimap lists a gigantic building on it, but if you actually visit the spot, there’s actually nothing there. When the integration between Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone was confirmed, plenty of fans were excited to see the battle royale get a major shake-up and move away from the familiar setting of Verdansk. The launch of Warzone Pacific, and the introduction of Caldera, has been a little rocky, however. There is a myriad of issues plaguing the battle royale currently, with everything from texture glitches turning it into Roblox, hackers being able to fly around in vehicles, and hit registration causing headaches once again. Away from that, players have also stumbled onto something of a headscratcher, as they’ve found a spot on the map that doesn’t line up with the minimap itself. The unusual discovery was highlighted by Redditor Butterflychunks, who pointed out that towards Mines, there is a pretty large building listed on the minimap. While it may look perfect for an early game loot run, or even as a place to hunker down for a bit, it doesn’t actually exist. If you head to the location, there are smaller things there, but no giant building. It’s something that nobody has quite been able to put their finger on either. “Had a final circle over here the other day. I marked this spot on the map as our destination. I was a bit surprised when I got close and realized we needed to find an alternative,” noted Redditor TheBruiser86. Other Warzone fans chimed in with their theories about the spot, with some noting it might be an underground secret for later down the road. Of course, it isn’t exactly a game-breaking issue, but it is a pretty confusing one. So, maybe, Raven will clear things up before long.

Warzone players baffled by Iron Trials removal and want it back – Dexerto
Warzone players baffled by Iron Trials removal and want it back ActivisionSeason 5 of Warzone brought one of the community’s favorite LTM to date, Iron Trials ‘84. Despite its success players are mindblown by the decision made to remove it from the game. When the patch notes for Season 5 dropped, players were made aware of a LTM called Iron Trials ‘84 that would only be around for a little while. This mode brought a new twist to Warzone giving players more health, less equipment, and making it harder to purchase utility. This created a skill gap that the player base was in love with. While the LTM was live the community gave it great reviews and praised how the game played out. So much, that they wanted it to stay forever, but now that it’s gone people are left confused at the decision. Warzone players confused over decision to remove Iron Trials Players were saddened when realizing that Raven Software actually went ahead with their plan to remove Iron Trials. Even though this was one of the game’s highest praised LTM it was still taken away from the players and people are asking questions. In this Reddit thread, “How is removing Iron Trials a good idea?” the community went back and forth trying to understand why the devs took Iron Trials away. One comment said, “Been looking for this post. Iron Trials was so perfect it’s made regular BR unplayable for me. Everyone annoy @RavenSoftware on Twitter please.” It’s not that the community’s angry with the devs, just baffled that they didn’t listen to the community and let this mode stick around longer. Another person said, “Yeah I agree. I’m hoping they plan on bringing it back as some kind of ranked or competitive mode with the integration. It was the change Verdansk needed.” While Warzone currently doesn’t have a ranked mode, some think Iron Trials can fill that void. For now, players are left with the hope of it returning and it could as Raven Software did hint that Iron Trials customs will be coming in the future. So there is a chance it can return to the game as a regular mode.

Warzone players baffled by insane recoil on “unusable” MG42 ground loadout – Dexerto
Warzone players baffled by insane recoil on “unusable” MG42 ground loadout ActivisionWarzone players will use any weapon they can find until their loadout but that could change as the MG42 ground loot has everyone mindblown at the uncontrollable recoil. The Warzone Pacific update brought 40 weapons from Vanguard into the popular battle royale, each with dozens of customization options. This also means that all the ground loot from Verdansk was replaced by guns from the current Call of Duty edition, Vanguard. However, players want the devs to take a second look at floor guns after this wild clip of Swagg with an MG42 took the community by storm. WEAPONS IN CALDERA ARE INSANE!! @Swagg pic.twitter.com/wbuLP2VZiT — Freddy (@icuq_) December 9, 2021 Warzone players mindblown over Vanguard weapon recoil Ground loot is essential in Warzone especially since players can’t buy a loadout drop until after the first circle closes. However, players are losing their minds as multiple clips all over Reddit and Twitter are showing off the MG42’s errant recoil. The clip below, posted by ‘theguywithacamera,’ is another example of how awful this recoil is. Between the Swagg clip, the Reddit one, and plenty of others, players have come together in complete shock at how much recoil this gun has. One person thinks that cheats wouldn’t even help make this loadout viable. “Where’s the dude that was calling Swagg out for Cronus? Nowhere to be found after this clip.” Twitter was full of reactions of players including fellow Nuke Squad member FaZe Santana and Warzone pro Tommey. While some people found some comedic value from this another player wasn’t having it at all. “Would love to meet the person who added this gun to the loot pool, and ask if they even cared to playtest the d**n thing.” It is unlikely that the ground loot will be changed but if we follow previous patches then we can expect a change at the mid-way point if there is a Season 1 Reloaded update. For now, it is probably best to stay away from the MG421 if you find it on Caldera.

Warzone players baffled by how much better CoD Mobile & Cold War’s gunsmiths are – Dexerto
Warzone players baffled by how much better CoD Mobile & Cold War’s gunsmiths are ActivisionWhen building the best loadout in Warzone, players try hundreds of combinations to create the best weapon that suits them. However many are mindblown that Black Ops Cold War and CoD Mobile have so much more detail, which would be extremely helpful in Verdansk. Warzone players are constantly bringing up how milliseconds can make or break them in a gunfight and having certain attachments can play a huge role in that outcome. Many streamers and pros are switching around attachments to create the weapon that can aim down sights, reload, and kill the fastest — all while making sure there is little to no recoil. Now imagine how much easier it would be to make that weapon if players could see the exact percentage they were tuning. Cold War & CoD Mobile Gunsmith gives detailed stats Warzone content creator JGOD sparked community intrigue when he tweeted out a picture of the gunsmith from CoD Mobile and how detailed it is. Cod mobile has their stuff together 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ pic.twitter.com/NtrvdXz1wT — James – JGOD (@JGODYT) July 26, 2021 This set the community off because the gunsmith in CoD Mobile and Black Ops Cold War lets you see exactly what changes certain attachments are making on your gun. Specifically, the gunsmith features show percentages for each category that the attachment is altering. This could be a game-changer for Warzone as players would be able to see, for example, how much faster certain scopes will aim down sights or how much faster a gun will reload with a certain magazine equipped. One person replied to JGOD’s tweet saying they were confused as to why Cold War can have detailed stats with specifics, but Warzone just leaves players guessing. I still also think the gunsmith from BOCW should be transferred over to Warzone. It is nice to see the detailed stats per each attachment right in-game. Never made sense to me to just use a bar graph with no actual statistics, just a guessing game lol. — Judy (@judynotjudy) July 26, 2021 The community thinks it makes zero sense that Cold War has detailed stats for attachments but Warzone doesn’t. One person believes it shouldn’t be difficult to integrate it over from Cold War if the devs are working together. If this feature is implemented over to Warzone it would make people’s lives a lot easier. Since players already turn to creators like JGOD and TrueGameData for accurate stats, having this change in the game would seemingly be beneficial to everyone.

Warzone players baffled by game-breaking ADS glitch – Dexerto
Warzone players baffled by game-breaking ADS glitch ActivisionA new game-breaking Warzone bug is making it impossible for players to see through the scope when using a sniper rifle. Warzone’s integration with Call of Duty: Vanguard and the release of the newest map Caldera on December 9 has brought a slew of bugs to the battle royale. From transforming into a plane mid-game to your operator’s nose covering your reticle, the devs have quite a lot of tasks on their hands to fix a lot of common issues that players are facing. To add to the list, a new game-breaking bug that makes it impossible to see through the scope when using a sniper rifle has now surfaced. A Reddit post from Warzone player Kaaaaos on December 17 has revealed a new bug that is preventing you from aiming down your scope when using a sniper. The post was titled “Well this is new for me,” and showed the player about to bag a quick kill with their sniper until the bug got in the way. Kaaaaos’s Reddit thread has since attracted a good amount of attention from the community who, of course, decided to poke fun. “Oh, they nerfed Kar98 again,” said one player. “That’s what you get for not using the new Kar98 from Vanguard,” commented another, joking about the matter. Other players attempted to give ‘helpful’ advice: “Ummmmm just take the cap off, genius!” It’s unclear exactly how widespread this bug is at the time of writing, but if it becomes more of a common issue, players should expect Raven to fix it before long.

Warzone players baffled by confusing Store ‘sold out’ bug – Dexerto
Warzone players baffled by confusing Store ‘sold out’ bug ActivisionWarzone has its fair share of glitches and bugs in-game — but a bug in the Store is something you don’t see every day. Bundles and Blueprints are extremely popular in Warzone, especially new ones such as the MechaGodzilla Tracer Pack and the Kong Trace Pack. Buying bundles or blueprints is an easy way for players to instantly unlock a new gun, or show off a cool Operator Skin or Weapon Skin. However, a Reddit user recently came across a bug in the Store that could either be a sly marketing ploy by the developer team or a simple mistake. Warzone Player finds an odd bug in the Store One Reddit user put on their conspiracy cap and claimed “They are just trying to introduce FOMO… I hope they fail.” “FOMO” stands for fear of missing out and the store message could be a marketing plot to drive up the demand for certain Store items before they sell out, but that seems like a stretch. As seen in the image above it appears that something under the Operators and Identity Tab is sold out. Bundles and Blueprints are usually only in the store for a limited time, but a limited stock has never been confirmed for any released Store content. Another person added, “looks like you somehow got around the store’s time parameters for bundles in the shop. Bet it works or is replaced in the store if you restart your game.” One user hinted at a possibly bleak future for CoD stating, “oh wait until they get limited NFT issued items in CoD, and then you’ll see how that scarcity game works.” A bug seems to be the more likely of the predictions for what the image means but either way, players will probably much prefer bugs in the store rather than in the actual game.

Warzone players baffled by bizarre Season 4 weapon nerfs – Dexerto
Warzone players baffled by bizarre Season 4 weapon nerfs Activision / TreyarchThe Warzone Season 4 Reloaded update has brought with it the biggest weapon balance the game has ever seen, but players aren’t happy with some of the changes. Warzone’s massive Season 4 Reloaded update is finally live, bringing plenty of new and exciting content for fans to sink their teeth into. While the OTs 9 SMG and Mauer Der Toten Zombie map headline the update, Raven Software has also adjusted nearly every gun in the game. It’s still early days and the meta will likely shift as players delve into the latest buffs and nerfs. Many of the Warzone weapon changes have been adjusted with the hopes of increasing the average TTK across multiple weapon categories. This means that even the most dominant guns will feel a little different this season. Despite the positive reaction surrounding the weapon meta, many players are baffled by Raven’s decision to nerf some of the weakest guns in the game. Warzone Season 4 Reloaded weapon balance “Why did they just nerf the SCAR, MW AK47, Oden, and FAL? These guns are already some of the worst in the game and have some of the lowest pick rates of all weapons,” says TastyWhaleMeat. To suggest that these four weapons have been popular in the current weapon meta would be a huge understatement. In fact, only Modern Warfare’s AK-47 narrowly manages to break into the top 30. Not only do these guns provide underwhelming damage when compared to the likes of their meta counterparts, but they also come packed with some of the highest recoil skill ceilings in the game. There’s a clear reason as to why the majority of the playerbase gravitates towards the likes of the FARA 83 and XM4. “Really bizarre changes that seem to make the worst weapons in Warzone even worse for no apparent reason,” says TastyWhaleMeat. “I liked the direction balance updates have been going, but this leads me to question how these decisions are being made.” Well, according to Raven Software, both the balance changes were made to help increase the average Time-to-Kill within Warzone. “When evaluating an individual change, some may seem quite drastic, but they were made holistically and in a way that supported a lock-step increase in average TTK across multiple Weapon categories,” says the developers. “Torso Multipliers were a considerable focus of these changes with how often they would act as flat damage increases given how consistently that location could be hit. With reductions to these multipliers, we are placing a bigger emphasis on precision — a move which we feel is ultimately healthy for the game.” Read More: Best OTs 9 Warzone class loadout – Despite Raven stating that they will be “closely monitoring weapon performance”, the Warzone community is still confused as to why some of the game’s worst-performing guns were hit so hard. Whether the developers will go back on these nerfs remains to be seen, but for now, it’s best to stay clear of the non-meta picks.

Warzone players baffled as Roze skin nerf apparently undone by Season 6 update – Dexerto
Warzone players baffled as Roze skin nerf apparently undone by Season 6 update ActivisionWarzone players have been left baffled after visibility issues surrounding the infamous Roze skin have resurfaced in Season 6 – despite Raven previously making major changes to make her more conspicuous. Few cosmetics in CoD history have generated anything like the controversy that Warzone’s Roze skin has. The skin was originally the Tier 100 reward in Modern Warfare’s Season 5 Battle Pass but has garnered an unprecedented level of infamy in CoD’s battle royale thanks to its all-black aesthetic. While not an issue in bright and sunny areas of the map, it renders players using it all but invisible when they are in shadowy areas. Calls for visibility changes were widespread and, across the Season 3 update back in April and the Season 4 update in June, the character was made far more conspicuous. However, Warzone players have been left baffled, with the improvements to her visibility seemingly undone in Warzone’s Season 6 update. Redditor ‘RoyalMannequin‘ pointed out the apparent reversion in an October 31 post, saying: “Since the season update the Roze “fix” is no longer in place. Roze does not get brighter as she did previously and is still very dark and unable to see. This problem is evident not only in Verdansk but even more so in the current gulag. Raven, please fix this.” Others chimed in to agree, with one commenting: “Alright so I wasn’t the only going crazy crying, “I CAN’T SEE SH*T” while shooting at a Roze skin? I can confirm that it’s become extremely painful and hard to see again, especially in darker places and corners.” It’s not clear what has caused the problems, but many users report Roze being back to her invisible worst. There was nothing in the Season 6 patch notes about adjustments to the skin, but the notoriously tricky art of game design means changes elsewhere can occasionally have unexpected consequences. We can expect to see Raven make the necessary changes to the Roze skin; preventing it from becoming another saga in Warzone.

Warzone players argue with MW3 fans over “silly” new Aftermarket Part – Dexerto
Warzone players argue with MW3 fans over “silly” new Aftermarket Part ActivisionModern Warfare 3 and Warzone players are split over the newest Aftermarket Part to be added to the game, with some calling the new attachment “silly.” With the start of Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty fans were introduced to a new way to unlock attachments for weapons that is a bonus to the standard method of just leveling up. These are Armory Unlocks, challenging you to complete challenges to get attachments, weapons, and some equipment. On top of that, there has also been the introduction of Aftermarket Parts. These attachments can, in some cases, completely change how a weapon works, while others are just a different twist on what is available in-game. Some of these Aftermarket Parts have gone down a storm with players, while others have been labeled as “pointless.” However, the newest part has divided opinion between players, especially those who just stick to Warzone. MW3 & Warzone players split over JAK Glassless Optic The new part, the JAK Glassless Optic, is a twist on the popular MK.3 Reflector sight, offering an increase to Firsing Aim Stability while also being cleaner than some other optics. “There are already 1000 sights in the game. I don’t need another,” said one annoyed Warzone fan. “It’s like a sh**tier version of the MK3,” another added. “No need for it and it’s a silly design to angle it in. Too narrow field of view,” commented another. Modern Warfare players are seeing the other side of things, however. “Firing aim stability and a sight that’s barely more obstructive than the Mk. 3? I’m sold lmao,” argued one MW3 player. “100% looks like the RDS from AW. I want,” another added. “Adds Firing Aim Stability which is the most important stat in the game so probably worth using,” said another. As noted, some Aftermarket Parts have quickly become a part of meta loadouts, proving to be integral in some cases. However, some have already been nerfed too, so it remains to be seen what camp the Glassless Optic falls into.

Warzone players are using Overwolf tracker app to analyze lobby strength – Dexerto
Warzone players are using Overwolf tracker app to analyze lobby strength ActivisionWithout a ranked playlist, Call of Duty: Warzone remains a guessing game for players. But there are services which allow you to see what you’re playing against, and Overwolf has gained attention as it can give lobby strength data in real time. It can be hard to know how much you are, or are not, improving in Warzone — as facing a high K/D lobby can ruin confidence (and, vice versa, facing an easy lobby can be a serious ego boost). So players understandably want to know what they’re up against and turn to numerous services to help them do so. While the CoD Companion app lets you see you and your teammates’ statistics in lobbies after matches, it doesn’t let you see the lifetime statistics of everyone you faced. That’s where tracker apps come in, and where Overwolf has made a serious presence recently. How to use Overwolf’s Warzone Tracker In order to see who’s in your Warzone lobby, you’ll first need to download a Warzone stats tracker. Simply follow the steps below to add Warzone Tracker to your desktop. Head over to overwolf.com. – Click on ‘Warzone Tracker’. – Select the ‘download’ option. – Once downloaded, simply link Warzone Tracker to your Warzone account. – Open the Warzone Tracker app and boot up Warzone. – When you’ve joined a lobby, hit ‘Alt+L’ to bring up all the live player information. – Unlike some of the other sites, Overwolf can be used in real-time so you can apparently see how weak or strong your lobbies are as you’re dropping in. This can be mighty helpful, as players can adjust their aggression to match the caution necessitated by the strength of their enemies. Read More: xQc confronts and exposes Warzone hacker – While Overwolf’s Warzone Tracker can’t help you get better at clicking heads, it does allow players to be more analytical when it coms to their gameplay. The more information, the merrier, after all.

Treyarch removes new Black Ops Cold War mid-season weapons after bug – Dexerto
Treyarch removes new Black Ops Cold War mid-season weapons after bug TreyarchAfter having the unlock challenges accidentally go live early in Warzone, Treyarch have removed the ability to earn the Streetsweeper shotgun, along with two other melee weapons, and has removed them from players’ inventories. While the Streetsweeper shotgun was originally announced as an “in-season” weapon, probably during the game’s inevitable mid-season update, Black Ops Cold War fans began noticing that the shotgun was actually already obtainable ahead of time. This was due to the fact that the unlock challenges for the weapon were already live within Warzone, meaning all players had to do was complete them in that game and then, thanks to the cross-progression integration, they would have access to them in Black Ops Cold War. Now, that seems to have changed. With many taking advantage of the glitch, Treyarch has removed the ability to earn the Streetsweeper shotgun, as well as the Sledgehammer and Wakizashi sword melee weapons, and has subsequently removed all the items from every player’s inventory. Some people are reporting that if you had the weapons in one of your loadouts, it may still be active for now, but if you remove them, it’ll be gone until they are officially released. The removal of all the mid-season weapons, especially the Streetsweeper shotgun, is to be expected. Not only were the weapons not supposed to be in the game at all but the shotgun in particular was extremely powerful, with it being used multiple times during its early release by the likes of NICKMERCS, FaZe Jev, and more. How to unlock Streetsweeper Shotgun in Warzone & Black Ops Cold War Currently, the Streetsweeper shotgun isn’t live within Black Ops Cold War. That being said, thanks to its early release, we now know exactly what players have to do in order to get their hands on it once it does go live officially. All players have to do is get 3 kills in a row with a Black Ops Cold War shotgun (Hauer 77 or Gallo SA12) without dying in 15 different matches. While that was a bit tricky while the challenges were only available within Warzone, once they go live within BOCW, it’ll be much easier to accomplish. Looks like the Streetsweeper, Wakizashi, & Sledgehammer weapons have been removed from the inventory of everybody who unlocked them via warzone. #BlackOpsColdWar pic.twitter.com/lTv1Mr6fzu — Ryan B. (@PrestigeIsKey) December 24, 2020 Once you unlock it, the weapon will show up within the create-a-class screen in both multiplayer and the battle royale, and you can level it up just like normal, adding all the attachments and camos you want. Once the weapon goes live officially, it seems certain that it’ll jump into the metagame, as it’s brief stint in-game has proven to be an incredibly potent weapon. Of course, Treyarch has time to change things.

Warzone players are secretly teaming up in Rebirth Island solos – Dexerto
Warzone players are secretly teaming up in Rebirth Island solos ActivisionWarzone ‘Solos’ may not be as individual as they appear as suggestions have been made that players are sneakily teaming up in the mode to secure a safer passage to easier wins. Rebirth has quite literally had a resurgence thanks to the Warzone Season 2 update. The map has received some notable changes and tinkering, the concept of vaults has made a triumphant return, and the odd cheeky Easter Egg has been thrown in for good measure too. Players have generally been very pleased with the inclusion of a Rebirth Solo variation, but unbeknownst to many, not all combatants are playing the game the way it’s meant to be intended. Rebirth Solos as a duo? One Warzone Reddit player’s friend had informed them that they were being ganged up on in Rebirth solos, and to corroborate these claims, they were sent an interesting screenshot that appeared to confirm those thoughts. “My friend was telling me that sometimes two players or two teams will work together because they started up the match at the same time and ended up in the same lobby,” the player said. “I didn’t believe him, but he sent me a YouTube clip which I screenshotted of him getting targeted by two players in Rebirth solos. Is this common?”

Warzone players are loving the Kilo buff in Season 4 Reloaded – Dexerto
Warzone players are loving the Kilo buff in Season 4 Reloaded ActivisionWith Call of Duty Warzone’s recent Season 4 Reloaded update, Raven Software buffed the Kilo 141 Assault Rifle and fans are celebrating its new power. Call of Duty Warzone’s Season 4 Reloaded update brought a lot of buffs and nerfs along with it, including nerfs to guns like the NZ41 and the KG M40. However, to the delight of many players, the Kilo 141 AR received some slight buffs involving a minimum damage increase from 18 to 23 and the removal of the mid damage step. Now, the community is celebrating the new and improved Kilo, with some even claiming the gun is “meta again.” Warzone players love the new Kilo buff Thanks to a post from JettFealers on the Call of Duty Warzone subreddit, the community was able to come together and discuss the new changes to the Kilo 141. “Was using Kilo all night last night on rebirth. It was shredding… As long as you realize its strengths and weaknesses, the Kilo is for sure back on the menu,” said one excited player. Many noted that the gun feels particularly nice to play on Rebirth — specifically, the new Rebirth of the Dead mode added in Season 4 Reloaded. While the Kilo 141 AR was never really a bad weapon to use in Warzone, it’s been a bit since the gun was truly considered “meta” by the community. However, now players like ThrowAwayCake420 declared the Modern Warfare gun is finally “meta again.” While some players may not think a bump of 18 to 23 damage is a lot, it ends up making quite the difference in Warzone. The damage increase compounded with the removal of the mid damage step means the Kilo does much more damage at further range. It remains to be seen just how meta-affecting the Kilo 141 will be as the season progresses, but for now, players seem to absolutely love this trust AR.

Warzone players are loving Season 4 patch’s secret change to zipline mobility – Dexerto
Warzone players are loving Season 4 patch’s secret change to zipline mobility Warzone players can now use ziplines at the same time as their teammates. Players were happy to find this mechanic that went unaccounted for when the Season Four Reloaded patch rolled out to the live servers. Warzone Season 4 Reloaded is live and with this update came a lot of changes to the game we all know and love. One of the biggest changes went unnoticed as it was initially left off of the patch notes released by Raven Software. Warzone zipline mechanic changed It became apparent to the community when a clip on the Warzone subreddit was posted by “aur0n” showing off the new mechanic allowing multiple people on the zipline same time. As you can see in the clip, all three players were able to get on right after the person in front of them got on the zipline. Previously, players would need to wait for their teammate or enemy to reach the top before being able to use it themselves. An interaction that previously would take around 20 seconds now only takes a little over five seconds to complete. Cutting the time down by nearly 75% will allow squads to play at a much faster and aggressive pace. Redditor ‘dknisle1’ said, “that might be the biggest change in the patch. This could be a game changer. Especially at ATC.” At the Airport in Warzone there is an air traffic control tower that can only be climbed by ascending on a zipline. This is very friendly to campers and snipers. Another redditor, ‘Baxterftw’ agreed and said, “ATC tower campers won’t like this. It’ll be fun to push that now.” With this change it will make it a lot harder for a team to hold down the tower without taking some casualties along the way. This also has a huge impact on Rebirth Resurgence. Some buildings have ziplines to ascend, such as Prison Block and Nova 6 Factory. The roofs of these buildings are common camping spots for squads and now teams can push together to take over these buildings to get a victory. ❗️ We’ve amended the Season Four Reloaded Patch Notes to include the following: • Ascenders now allow multiple Players to use them simultaneously – allowing for quicker vertical engagements as a squad. Enjoy ☺️ https://t.co/0vSvqOcZoL — Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) July 15, 2021 Since releasing the patch, Warzone devs have confirmed in a tweet that this was an intended change and not a glitch, which means it is here to stay. Raven Software have since updated the patch notes to include the change. Other players are happy with the change but still feel like more can be added to this aspect of Warzone. ‘Henryjhutchins’ on Twitter is really excited but wants to be able to hip-fire while going up a zipline. This change has been something that the Warzone community has been interested in for a while and could definitely have a huge impact on the pace of the game.

Warzone players are literally being killed by their own Heartbeat Sensors – Dexerto
Warzone players are literally being killed by their own Heartbeat Sensors ActivisionWarzone players are losing their minds over a bug that literally sees them dying at the hands of their own Heartbeat Sensor, and it makes absolutely no sense. Warzone has faced its fair share of bugs, and some are literally game-breaking, such as the one that saw vehicles literally crashing entire lobbies. While this might not fall exactly into that category, it’s fair to say that this would absolutely ruin your fun and enjoyment of the game. The Heartbeat Sensor is one of the most popular items in Warzone, with most players opting to carry it as their tactical equipment over the likes of Stun or Gas Grenades — but that might change if it keeps impacting people like this. As well as having issues with players showing up on the Sensor when there’s nobody around, as well as Ghost not always working in hiding you from enemy Heartbeat Sensors, now the equipment is literally knocking players dead for seemingly no reason. As you can see in the clip below, posted to Reddit by GiantDreamDwarf, they find a Heartbeat Sensor and are delighted about it, thinking they’ve struck gold now they’ll better be able to identify enemy locations. Instead, it all comes crashing down almost instantly. While waiting for another ping of the device to see if there are enemies near them, instead Dwarf just drops dead, despite not being shot from anywhere or being hit by enemy explosives. Instead, as you can see in the killcam, it credits the kill to another player, saying they got the kill with a Heartbeat Sensor. Not only that, but the player who gets credit for the kill doesn’t even shoot, and instead seems to be just trying to navigate the map — miles away from where Dwarf was. Not only that, but the enemy doesn’t even use a Heartbeat Sensor, so to say they killed Dwarf with one looks absurd, and there’s no logical reason for why this run of events may have happened. One of the comments said that something similar happened to them in Season 2, but this doesn’t look to be a particularly common occurrence, and Infinity Ward will likely try to look into this to figure out why these things may be happening, and put an end to it for good.

Warzone players are furious that Ranked Play won’t be on Urzikstan in Season 5 – Dexerto
Warzone players are furious that Ranked Play won’t be on Urzikstan in Season 5 ActivisionActivision confirmed what’s coming to Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone in Season 5, and once again, Ranked Play won’t be available on Urzikstan. On May 29, Raven Software responded to criticism that Ranked Play had yet to be featured on Urzikstan during Modern Warfare 3’s iteration of Warzone. “While our teams are targeting to release Ranked Play Battle Royale before the end of the year, we are not ready to commit to specific timing just yet,” Raven Software said. “We are using the months ahead to fine-tune the design of our Ranked Play system to reflect and compliment changes since made to the core Battle Royale experience.” While this gave some hope to players, in the Season 5 roadmap blog, Raven Software confirmed that Ranked Play will only be on Rebirth Island for a third consecutive season. Before that, the competitive game mode was only available on Fortune’s Keep for a season. CharlieIntel shared the disheartening news about Season 5 on Twitter, and community members flooded the comment section with complaints. “Nobody wants to play Rebirth Ranked,” one player responded. Why is it so hard to release big map ranked?” Other community members raised the issue that this will be the third straight season of only having Ranked Play on Rebirth Island. “At least put it on vondel or back on fortunes keep like my goodness,” a second user added. Moving forward, fear is starting to creep in that Warzone’s large map won’t receive that much new content, given the push to promote Resurgence instead. “This is not coming. Let’s accept it that big map is dead,” a third user argued. After a few seasons of minimal content on Urzikstan, some large map fans finally thought this was the turning point when Raven Software announced that the iconic Verdansk POI Atlas Superstore is returning as a POI in Season 5. However, that excitement soured when, instead of using the new POI as a perfect segue for adding Ranked Play to Urzikstan, it’s another season of Rebirth Island only.

Warzone players are flaming the “repulsive” Tracer Pack anime bundle – Dexerto
Warzone players are flaming the “repulsive” Tracer Pack anime bundle ActivisionWarzone players are grabbing their torches and pitchforks in reaction to the new anime Tracer pack bundle. It took Activision two tries to nail its Attack on Titan crossover. Warzone players initially flamed the developers for a “dollar-store” Captain Levi skin. In February, Warzone added an “Armored Titan” Bundle, and players obsessed over the new and improved AoT collab. Modern Warfare 2019 added a generic Anime bundle. The developers opted to add a similar generic anime bundle this time around, and Warzone players were not as receptive to the new operator and weapon skins. Warzone players roast new anime bundle CharlieINTEL shared a clip of the anime weapon inspection feature in action. The H4 Blixen blueprint allows players to dance after pressing buttons on the weapon. A Warzone fan created a Reddit thread asking for opinions on the anime bundle, and players didn’t hold back their disdain. One player said, “I can’t wait for MW2 so we can leave this clown show behind for a while.” A second user added, “It’s terrible. It makes me physically cringe. That said, the people who grew up playing CoD are no longer the target audience. The Fortnite crowd is, and that’s what sells.” Agreeing with the sentiment, a Warzone player argued, “terrible, and it’s not up for discussion.” It looks as though the developers will have to go back to the drawing board just as they did after their first Attack on Titan bundle.

Warzone players are “fed up” with lag issues since Season 4 launch – Dexerto
Warzone players are “fed up” with lag issues since Season 4 launch ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players are reporting “lag” and “desync” issues “significantly” being worse since the Season 4 Update. The Warzone Season 4 update made several large changes, including the new Fortune’s Keep map, a brand new battle pass, new guns, and a long list of weapon balance updates. Bugs occurring after large updates are nothing new for Warzone. Players labeled the game as “unplayable” after the Season 2 Reloaded lag issues. The biggest complaints were texture issues, lag, and hit registration. Flash forward to Season 4 and it looks like lag and hit registration problems are back and possibly more problematic than ever. “lag” and “desync” problems are plaguing Caldera Hit registration is a term for shooting games that refers to bullets hitting their target and correctly registering damage. At the start of Caldera, players claimed that poor hit registration caused bullets to not register damage properly. In the video below, Reddit user pnokmn shared a highlight of glaring hit registration issues. They stated, “this season’s servers feel like they have gotten significantly worse with lag and desync.” Other users concurred, with one user adding, “[y]ou would think a company that makes millions of dollars every day could afford to upgrade their servers. It is so frustrating to have such inconsistent performance.” The Call of Duty Ricochet anti-cheat system has a feature that makes cheaters unable to do damage if they are suspicious of cheating. That feature can complicate some clips that show possible hit registration problems. We will provide an update on any changes made to the hit registration issue.

Warzone players are convinced new anti-cheat measure reduces damage – Dexerto
Warzone players are convinced new anti-cheat measure reduces damage ActivisionA secret new anti-cheat measure has allegedly been rolled out in Warzone, one that appears to drastically nerf damage for players with notably sharp aim. Warzone’s anti-cheat system, RICOCHET, may have just received a huge upgrade. Although hackers have still been running rampant in the CoD BR, despite Activision’s best efforts, a new change seems to have been implemented under the surface to help the situation. A new adjustment spotted by a particular cheating group appears to reduce damage output for specific accounts. Anyone with silent aim or wallhacks could have their profiles impacted by this tweak fairly soon, players claimed. Regardless of your weapons or equipment, damage is “reduced by a lot. It makes it very hard to kill people,” one cheat provider explained. New anti-cheat measure in Warzone Rather than outright blocking cheaters from Warzone, this new method could directly give normal players the upper hand over hackers. With their weapons dealing less damage, it could lead to free kills across a wide range of lobbies. Better yet, accounts remain with this damage reduction for quite some time. “The flag persists even when you aren’t using cheats,” the cheat provider said. “I suspect it goes away on its own once your accuracy becomes human-like again for a while. Or maybe it’s permanent and this is just Activision’s way of trolling us. We don’t know.” Naturally, Warzone cheaters are already trying to work around the new system upgrade. Additional settings are now in development for this particular group of accounts, intending to provide an “accuracy slider” to try and avoid detection. Playing with a lower accuracy setting would still apply an aimbot feature, but it may not be as obvious as the higher accuracy option. At least, that’s their hope on paper. Furthermore, this new anti-cheat measure could impact Warzone across the board. Not only can it detect those using malicious software to hack, but it could even nerf those with powerful controller hacks too. “To be clear, this will be affecting all aimbot cheats,” the group added. “Internal cheats, external cheats, even controller scripts, and Cronus. If your accuracy is too good to be human, then you will be flagged.” Warzone players concerned by new anti-cheat system While this appears to be a positive step forward in tackling Warzone’s cheater crisis, it’s also raised more than a few eyebrows. With Activision’s history of silently changing features in the backend, some with game-changing implications, many grew suspicious of this discovery. “The fact there is a system that can do such a thing and reduce damage per bullet is actually a scary observation,” one player chimed in on Reddit. The main cause for concern is just how accurate the system is at detecting cheaters. After all, could it not hinder Warzone’s top talent by mistake? “Confirming that something like that is implemented in the game makes me really wonder if that only applies to real cheaters.” Given the nature of the system, there may be no telling if accurate players suddenly deal less damage. With the potential for minor adjustments in the background, it might not be all too noticeable at first. But now, there’s a real chance you’re dealing less damage in Warzone simply due to your accuracy.

Warzone players are complaining about how “broken” melees are – Dexerto
Warzone players are complaining about how “broken” melees are Activision-BlizzardCall of Duty: Warzone players are complaining that meleeing is still overpowered and broken, re-igniting a discussion that is as old as the game itself. [jwplayer 4QyvRkrz] Meleeing is one of the most important mechanics in Warzone. It’s often easier to whip out a knife and shank an enemy at close quarters, especially when you need to reload. However, it’s been a hot topic in the past year. Some people think it’s too overpowered, and have even gone as far as calling it “broken.” Four months ago, the COD: Warzone subreddit created a poll to determine whether players felt meleeing was too overpowered. Two-thirds of the voters declared it was fine as it was. But that didn’t stop other threads from popping up. Either way, it seems like plenty of players still think it’s an issue worth discussing, and something that needs to be addressed. A recent thread has re-ignited discussion once again. It’s already amassed more than 5,700 upvotes. In essence, the post revolves around a short clip in which a player runs into an enemy in the heat of battle. The player sticks a Semtex grenade onto an enemy’s chest. Although his throw couldn’t have been more perfect, it doesn’t kill the enemy. “A Semtex to the chest doesn’t down someone but a couple pistol whips will,” said the original poster. “One of the many imbalances of [Warzone].” “Can we talk about shooting someone on the chest 3 times and then you get punched twice?” asked one user in the comments. “Melee is broken as f**k in this game and the insane aim assist with melee lets you hit them without even facing them,” wrote another. The discussion even went on to compare melee damage to a point-blank shotgun to the chest. In the end, the consensus was that meleeing does too much damage, and a change would be well-received. Of course, there are bound to be players who disagree as well. However, the discussion has gained traction again, and it seems like it won’t fade away anytime soon.

Warzone players are being frozen to the spot on Fortune’s Keep map – Dexerto
Warzone players are being frozen to the spot on Fortune’s Keep map ActivisionWarzone’s brand-new Fortune’s Keep map has been a big hit since it was introduced in Season 4, but a bizarre bug that freezes players after going prone is ruining matches and causing unfair deaths. Warzone Season 4 came with a boatload of changes to the CoD battle royale, from new weapons to plenty of nerfs and buffs. The most exciting addition, however, was the introduction of an entirely new map in the form of Fortune’s Keep. The smaller map was released as another option to the usual Caldera experience and fans seemed to love it immediately, with some even preferring it to Rebirth Island. However, it has been plagued by a handful of issues, from out-of-map exploits to wall glitches. The latest weird bug sees players trapped after going prone to avoid enemy fire. The issue was raised by Reddit user Gerbytron, who shared a clip of the glitch which cost him a match during the final circle. They ran to cover to try and evade an incoming airstrike and went prone behind some boxes. When they tried to stand back up and get back in the fight, they were met with a “prone blocked” message at the top of the screen. This usually indicates that an object above the player is preventing them from standing back up, however, there didn’t appear to be an obstacle. To make matters worse, when they tried to crawl out of the situation, they seemed to be frozen in place and unable to move forwards or backward. Unsurprisingly, this led to a cheap death and an embarrassing killcam. Other users seemed to agree that the player was stuck on a broken part of the map, and also reported that similar issues had affected them in different places around Fortune’s Keep. “This happened to me but from a street curb,” said one reply. “Same happened to me yesterday, but in the watchtower at Winery on Fortune’s Keep. The precision ended up hitting me, freeing me from the glitch, but of course, I died up there then,” explained another. Unfortunately, there is no way of identifying every glitched spot that players should avoid. One player did offer a solution, however, claiming that using a stim when stuck in prone can sometimes break the bug. It’s safe to assume that Raven will be working on a fix for these bizarre issues, but in the meantime be careful where you take cover when playing on Fortune’s Keep.

Warzone players are already annoyed by KAR98K as it makes games “miserable” – Dexerto
Warzone players are already annoyed by KAR98K as it makes games “miserable” ActivisionWarzone players are already a bit tired of the KAR-98K as the rifle is making things “miserable” in the battle royale. There have been a handful of weapons that Warzone players look back fondly on, but none more so than the KAR98K. The long-range rifle dominated the early days of the battle royale in Verdansk and also ran riot on other maps as well. It went away for a while, disappearing from Call of Duty with the arrival of CoD: Vanguard. So, when it was announced that the KAR would be returning in Season 4 of Modern Warfare 3, fans were initially delighted. However, it’s been a few weeks since the rifle made its return, and fans have started to sour on the KAR just a little bit. “For the life of me I can’t understand why people wanted this. Every game it’s just getting randomly cracked or downed from god knows where while trying to do anything,” Redditor Arels said. “If this were any sniper not named Kar people would be up in arms. The amount of 3rd Kar-tying has been absolutely insane,” another said, adding that Warzone is feeling “miserable” right now. “Warzone has become mind-numbingly boring,” commented another player. Some have already suggested nerfing the KAR, including toning down its bullet velocity and damage. “I’d nerf the bullet damage just a lil bit, I don’t think it should be the only sniper that one taps from every distance,” one argued. On the flip side of things, some fans are still delighted by the KAR’s “ridiculous” power. “Even without the laser, I’ve noticed, at least in multiplayer, my no scopes are ridiculous with the KAR,” one said. “I’ve been loving the Kar98,” another added. It seems unlikely that the KAR will be nerfed anytime soon, especially as the nostalgia factor is still looming large for some returning players.

Warzone players applaud devs for “absolute blast” April Fools update – Dexerto
Warzone players applaud devs for “absolute blast” April Fools update Activision / AppleWarzone players got in the spirit of the silliest day in the year as devs pushed a fun April Fools update, and turns out despite all the game’s current issues, the community actually enjoyed the gag. There is one day of the year in which being goofy and messing around with people is accepted around the world. April 1, better known as “April Fools Day” is a silly ‘holiday’ where you say or do something and add “April Fools” to play out the prank. Well, Warzone took full advantage of this golden opportunity to drop a few tricks into the battle royale, and while it may seem like a joke, the community claims to have really enjoyed everything that the one-day update included. Warzone players thank devs for April Fools In a Reddit post by ‘livevilog’ the user commented on how amazing the April Fools Day update was and that it brought a fresh breath of life to the game. The one moment they highlighted was a change with the Thermite grenade, where instead of just sticking to an enemy, it would fling them up into the sky. A Redditor said, “for real dude. I don’t think I’ve ever had this much fun in a BR. Those hot drops without the chute were so chaotic.” Other players also enjoyed this update as social media sites were filled with people posting clips of the silly antics going on in Warzone. Another funny one happened when grenades turned into shockwaves from Fortnite. As seen in the clip from Redditor ‘Underlicou’ the player tossed a nade at their feet, but instead of it killing them, it allowed them to get a highlight for their next mixtape. While this was only a one-day event, players are excited to see what happens in the future and are eager to see fun modes come, even if it’s not a day silliness.

Warzone players apparently being “shadowbanned” & forced to play with cheaters – Dexerto
Warzone players apparently being “shadowbanned” & forced to play with cheaters Call of DutyA number of Call of Duty content creators, streamers, and regular players believed they have been “shadowbanned” or “blacklisted” in Warzone, being forced into lobbies full of hackers, simply for being reported by opponents. Cheating has been a constant thorn in Warzone’s side since day one, as crossplay makes aimbots, wallhacks, and other unfair advantages prevalent even for console players. There is an in-game report function, allowing any player to report any opponent for cheating in only a few button presses. The rise in cheating has made many players overly-suspicious, and so false reports are very common. Now, some players are claiming that despite not cheating, they are being reported as cheaters thanks to naturally good aim – especially with the incredibly overpowered DMR now dominating Verdansk. Warzone shadow bans for suspected cheaters It appears – though cannot be confirmed – that if your account is reported frequently for cheating, you may be placed into lobbies with a lower trust factor (i.e. with other players also frequently reported for cheating). If true, it would mean good players, playing fairly without any cheats, may find themselves in an endless loop of facing hackers, simply because they were reported. The issue was raised by popular YouTuber Tomographic, who explained his own experience. “Essentially, my account has been blacklisted from the matchmaking system, and I’ve now been moved into a ‘cheater bracket’,” the YouTuber explains. “I am running into countless cheaters now. And it sucks I can’t play with my friends, because all my games are occupied by cheaters. The matchmaking system sees me as one of the bad guys, and that ruins the game for everyone else.” He claims that while playing with friends, fellow YouTubers Aculite and JackFrags, they were running into constant cheaters. But, after Tomographic left the party, the other duo said they were no longer running into cheaters at all. And it’s not just cheaters. One of the other downsides to this problem is much longer queue times. Tomographic reports waiting up to 20 minutes to find a match. And, even once a match is found, the connection is poor, with high ping, and rampant with cheaters. Previously, players have reported similar ‘shadow bans’ in base Modern Warfare multiplayer. In October, another YouTuber, Expel, claims he had a similar experience, with matches full of cheaters and very bad connections. Read More: How to win your Gulag 1v1 – Warzone players banned ‘for no reason’ On the Activision forums, players are claiming to also have shadow bans, with no helpful responses from the support teams. One player complains of “200 ping matches” and “even if you find a game you’re matched against hackers.” They continue: “It’s a shame that this is the way the game works now, normal player gets shadow ban for no reason and stuck with malicious people who prefer to cheat the game.” There is no response on the forums from Activision Support – nor is there likely to be one forthcoming. For a system like this to work, it must be kept under wraps, to avoid anyone trying to abuse it. But, in its current implementation, it seems players could maliciously target an opponent with false ban reports, or just mistakenly believe they are cheating. This could result in that account being ‘blacklisted’ from the regular matchmaking pool. The problem has the potential to get worse while the DMR 14 remains the strongest gun in the game. Players who are killed so quickly by this high-damage weapon are perhaps more likely to report their killer for cheating.

Warzone players convinced anti-cheat is failing as hackers surge again in Season 1 – Dexerto
Warzone players convinced anti-cheat is failing as hackers surge again in Season 1 ActivisionThe Warzone community is up in arms once again as cheaters have returned with a vengeance in Season 1. As almost every lobby fills with hacking players, many are even convinced the Ricochet anti-cheat system has stopped working. The Warzone cheating crisis has reached new heights in Season 1, quite literally. Despite the introduction of a custom anti-cheat system at the tail end of 2021, the new year has seen an unprecedented hacking resurgence. Not only are cheaters filling essentially “every match” once again, but they’re doing so with brand new methods of destruction. As a result, the community is nearing its breaking point. Many have even demanded Warzone 2 launch as a full-price title just to help avoid the issue. With the game “absolutely infested,” some are now questioning whether Ricochet is doing its job. “Did [Activision] turn off the anti-cheat?” one player asked. “This is worse than the last days of Verdansk. When Ricochet was announced in October, it came as Warzone’s hacking situation bordered on the point of being “unplayable.” After a slow rollout over the next few weeks, Season 1 was ushered in and before long, the community considered it a high point. “Can we all agree that Ricochet has been an overwhelming success?” players said at the time. Just a few weeks later and this early positivity has quickly turned sour. As Season 1 begins to wind down, many are now arguing “there’s no point in playing” due to the sheer number of cheaters taking over both Caldera and Rebirth Island. A free trial weekend from a particular cheat provider appears to have been the cause for this latest surge. With thousands given free access to various exploits, Ricochet hasn’t been able to keep up. “Whatever kernel-level driver the anti-cheat supposedly has, doesn’t seem to be working, one Reddit user claimed. Despite Activision suing one of the largest cheat providers, the issue now appears to be more prominent than before. With no recent comments from the developers, there’s no telling how long it may be until new improvements are rolled out. In the meantime, there’s a good chance every lobby has at least one cheater for you to be cautious of. Whether they’re flying vehicles or locking on across the map, expect some unfair gunfights in the leadup to Warzone Season 2.

Warzone players annoyed Kali Sticks “completely ruin” Halloween event – Dexerto
Warzone players annoyed Kali Sticks “completely ruin” Halloween event ActivisionWarzone players are becoming increasingly annoyed at the Halloween event, from the spooky animations to truly bizarre bugs. Now, players are complaining about melee weapons such as Kali Sticks “completely ruining” the Ghosts of Verdansk mode. The Haunting Halloween event in Warzone hasn’t been the best received by players. With strange 3rd-person bugs throwing players off and some disappointed comparisons to last year’s event, players are taking serious issue with the seasonal changes. While the Ghosts of Verdansk mode was expected to mimic the Zombie Royale of 2020’s Haunting event, which fans seemed to love, it hasn’t quite had the same appeal. Not only that, but some players feel that the entire mode is being ruined by melee weapons, making it incredibly difficult to play as a ghost in the game mode. A number of posts have appeared online complaining about melee weapons in the mode, with hundreds of upvotes on Reddit and discussions taking place on Twitter. “New game mode sucks now because yet again Kali Sticks are overpowered,” said Whiskey Bizzness on Twitter. “You can’t beat anyone as a ghost who has them… NERF them.” https://twitter.com/Adamingersoll42/status/1451792345322688512 Similarly, Taiizor’s Reddit post saying that the Kali Sticks “completely ruin” the Ghosts of Verdansk mode received hundreds of upvotes and initiated a huge discussion. “They are literally undefeatable with ghosts,” he said, adding that they are “rendering the game mode just BR at night.” Of course, the sentiment isn’t universal. Many in the above Reddit thread insisted that there isn’t an issue and there are a number of players who love the Ghosts of Verdansk mode. It’s unlikely developers Raven make any major changes to the Haunting event of the Ghosts of Verdansk mode now, but the players will be hoping for something to make playing as a ghost just a little bit easier.

Warzone players annoyed by loadout drop change ahead of Season 3 – Dexerto
Warzone players annoyed by loadout drop change ahead of Season 3 ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players have voiced their frustrations with the loadout change coming just ahead of Season 3, with some suggesting it disrupts the pacing of matches. While the typical battle royale formula has been about dropping in, grabbing whatever loot you can off the floor, and then moving into fights, Warzone changed that a bit with the introduction of loadouts and loadout drops. Even though you can buy your own loadout drop, there are a few free ones that drop throughout the game – making them a hot commodity for players who want to rack up kills, given that they can camp the drop and wait for unsuspecting players. The timings of these free drops have been altered again recently in Warzone, and some players aren’t all that happy about it, and they’d like to see things changed before long. The timing of the first free drop was changed in the April 19th update, bringing it into play within the first few minutes of the match. This has caused frustrations for players who’ve experienced enemies camping it right off the rip.

Warzone players annoyed by ‘dishonorable’ loadout used to win $100k Solos match – Dexerto
Warzone players annoyed by ‘dishonorable’ loadout used to win $100k Solos match Twitter, @CHOWH1_It can be hard to watch someone else win in Call of Duty: Warzone, but that took on new meaning as fans and players reacted to the loadout a European pro used to win $100,000 during the World Series of Warzone Solos. The $300,000 World Series of Warzone EU tournament on September 15 became a $400k event when the Solo YOLO match was added. And, it was quite the addition, as the game was winner-takes-all for $100k to the last solo remaining in a 150-person lobby full of pro players. So it’s no surprise that, in a game with life-changing money on the line, a lot of eyes were glued to the match. Unfortunately, many didn’t like what they saw — as the winner, France’s CHOWH1, used what people described as a ‘dishonorable’ and “p***y” loadout to secure the bag. While most weren’t surprised, that didn’t stop them from being disappointed. The ‘dishonorable’ $100k Warzone loadout Riot Shield + Stun + Gallo = $100,000 💰@CHOWH1_ just secured the BAG in the World Series of Warzone Solos match pic.twitter.com/AjlnsdRhRe — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) September 15, 2021 As you can see in the clip, CHOWH1 employed a loadout that Warzone players have come to know and despise. With $100,000 laying in the balance, here’s what the Frenchman used as his Solos class: Primary: Gallo SA12 – Secondary: Riot Shield – Tactical Equipment: Stun Grenade – Lethal Equipment: Thermite Grenade – The first thing you’ll notice is the absence of any range, which would explain why the pro player and streamer only had around three kills. But still, you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do when survival is the only thing that matters and this loadout was apparently CHOWH1’s route to a payday. That’s the biggest pussy shit I’ve ever seen 😂😭 hell nah @RebornReacts @TwoTooLow no honor. — mori (@tootootoxik) September 15, 2021 While other pros laughed about shotguns and the state of the Solos, the replies from fans on Twitter was another story. Fans of Warzone that is, as most were not supporters of the choices themselves (which isn’t a first for the Gallo class, which has been highly controversial in the past). Many responses fell along the lines of “no honor,” while one user went above and beyond: “That’s the biggest p***y shit I’ve ever seen. Hell nah.” As popular consequentialists or utilitarians like Machiavelli or Ovid would tell you, “the ends justify the means.” In this case, $100,000 were the ends and a Gallo and Riot Shield were the means. You can dislike the loadout, but it’s still the highest-earning class in Verdansk history.

Warzone players annoyed as they’re forced to use one-shot sniper they don’t want – Dexerto
Warzone players annoyed as they’re forced to use one-shot sniper they don’t want ActivisionCall of Duty players have voiced their discontent with the lack of one-shot sniper options in Warzone, with many being left disappointed by the fact it’s not like how things used to be. Sniping has always played an important role in Call of Duty but when it comes to Warzone, it’s been especially important. In the early days of Verdansk, when the map was so wide open and players were still figuring out their playstyles, snipers ruled the day across the long open spaces – especially with a thermal scope. Over time, the art of sniping has been affected by changes from the developers – especially when you talk about one-shotting an enemy. Things did get a little out of hand with the Kar98 and one-shot snipers in Caldera, leading to them being removed for some time. So, players were naturally excited when it was announced that they’d play a role in Modern Warfare 3’s Warzone update. However, the lack of options is an annoyance. Warzone players want more one-shot snipers in Urzikstan Despite the wide range of choices in-game, the only one-shot sniper in Warzone is the Katt-AMR right now, which has frustrated plenty of players who would like a bit of variety. “Still don’t understand why we can’t get more one-shot snipers,” said one annoyed player. “I am sooooo disappointed in the XRK Stalker. Looking at its stats, it SHOULD be a 1-shot headshot. But it’s not,” another added. “They should rotate it every season so next season we get a new one-shot sniper and then by the end of this map’s life-span we would have gone through all the snipers,” another player suggested. Others also mooted the idea of copying Apex Legends by adding helmets as an armor option, which could give players a better way of judging if they’ll be able to hit a one-shot or not. Ultimately, it’s a case of waiting and seeing what the devs do. They could easily buff another sniper and put it at a usable one-shot level and while it’s unclear if they’ll do that, it is what players are hungry for.

Warzone players angry with “pay to win” Modern Warfare sniper blueprint – Dexerto
Warzone players angry with “pay to win” Modern Warfare sniper blueprint ActivisionA number of Call of Duty: Warzone players have hit out at another “pay to win” weapon after noticing that an HDR sniper blueprint lets players see a whole lot more while zoomed in. As Warzone has continued to surge in popularity, the developers have kept the battle royale filled with new content in the form of new weapons, cosmetics, and game modes. However, there have been plenty of issues with items that come from the in-game item shop. Players have complained that certain blueprints actually give weapons a damage boost compared to their base version, while some skins have let users literally go invisible at long-range. With the switch to Black Ops Cold War weapons, some of the Modern Warfare items have taken a backseat, but players have reignited an argument around a HDR blueprint being “pay to win.” The Blueprint in question is the Oceanographer for the HDR sniper. The bright skin isn’t the issue, but rather the variable zoom scope that is on the rifle. As Reddit user aur0n shows, compared to the stock HDR, the scope doesn’t blackout the area around where the player is zooming in. Instead, it shows everything that’s there. It’s not quite an aimbot-like advantage, of course, but it does allow players to get a better read on what’s around them. For example, if an enemy sneaks up on a player using the stock scope, they might not be able to see them. Whereas, with the Oceanographer blueprint, they could. “I know it’s not as broken as the MAC-10 with increased base stats like we had some weeks ago, but I still find it unfair that people who shopped the HDR in the store have a better weapon (with peripheral vision) than others that don’t want to spend money on it,” the Redditor added. “This has always been an issue and gave up complaining about it. The black peripheral is a huge downside compared to the blueprint,” another noted. Given that it’s a Modern Warfare weapon, and the blueprint is slightly old at this point, it’s unknown if a change will be made. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Warzone players angry with “clueless” Modern Warfare weapon nerfs in update – Dexerto
Warzone players angry with “clueless” Modern Warfare weapon nerfs in update ActivisionWith Raven Software rolling out yet another update for Warzone, some players are frustrated with how far behind the Modern Warfare weapons have seemingly been left. The Warzone meta has constantly been in flux over the last two years as pretty much every type of weapon has had its moment in the spotlight. Though, as Black Ops Cold War was integrated into the battle royale, there have been a few bumps along the way with bugs, glitches, and of course, hackers. In terms of the meta though, the Cold War weapons have taken over. Plenty of players still have classes built around guns from Modern Warfare, but really, if you’re not using a Cold War weapon, you’re behind the eight ball. That, of course, has caused some issues. With Modern Warfare weapons already lagging behind in terms of power, the last thing many players wanted was another set of nerfs. Though, that’s what happened in the August 16 update. The AS Val, MP5, and a few others all took a big hit. As a result, players have started to question why Raven had to target those weapons, as it seems like they’re trying to make them ‘irrelevant’ in a way. “We’re at a point where using MW loadouts is straight up putting yourself at a disadvantage,” said Redditor o_oPeter. “I don’t like Cold War and I’m not going to grind Plunder games for hours straight to level CW guns.” Others quickly echoed those thoughts, offering up solutions. “At this point just take MW weapons out of Warzone,” commented one player. “Make a separate playlist for only MW guns so we can have fun against without being completely outclassed.” Though, some just wanted to blast the devs. “Raven is absolutely clueless and this is made clear by their so-called “balancing” that they did in season 4,” said another player. Some players suggested that the same cycle will continue when the battle royale moves to integrate with Vanguard, but it’ll be Cold War weapons taking the hit. Of course, not every Modern Warfare weapon is useless. However, a quick look at the top 10 most-picked weapons on WZRanked shows that only three come from Modern Warfare. A Season 5 reloaded update later this season could give some love to the Modern Warfare weapons, but for now, players aren’t best pleased.

Warzone players angry over no recoil & aim assist mods ruining matches – Dexerto
Warzone players angry over no recoil & aim assist mods ruining matches Infinity WardCall of Duty fans have called on Modern Warfare developers to take action against players using mods in Warzone that give extra aim assist, no recoil, rapid-fire, and more. Following the latest wave of player bans on July 7, which also seemed to have an effect on innocent players, fans of the popular title have been voicing their concerns on the number of hackers in Warzone. While Infinity Ward has previously provided updates on the number of bans they have dished out, players are now calling on the developers to address the root of this recurring issue. Warzone players call for cheaters to be banned Although there has been claims of cheaters in almost every Warzone match, the tools that are allowing players to install these mods have seemingly gone unchecked. One Warzone player u/Gulaglive explained that there the “XIM, Cronus Zen and Strike packs” would all have to be assessed for the unfair advantages that they can potentially give in-game. After highlighting the differences with each mod, which are available for both console and PC players, they called for Infinity Ward to find ways of detecting those who use these cheats. “I hate thinking I got wrecked by a computer instead of raw talent. There’s no pride in these people. Why doesn’t IW ban them?” Gulaglive added. The post received a lot of support from other players, who had also encountered their fair share of cheaters, with many calling for Warzone’s competitive integrity to be restored. Cronus Anti-Recoil vs actual recoil.. unbelievable that ppl use this shit in competitions pic.twitter.com/crRXOChtho — Skadezy 𝕏 (@Skadezy) June 19, 2020 The outcry comes not long after clips started to surface of the Cronus’ no recoil mods, revealing just how powerful these mods can be in Warzone and Modern Warfare, with even pro players voicing their concerns. However, despite players calling for ways to detect these cheats, it is unclear just what Infinity Ward has planned to counter these unfair mods.

Warzone players angered by “scummy” Battle Pass Tier Skip function – Dexerto
Warzone players angered by “scummy” Battle Pass Tier Skip function Activision / TreyarchWarzone’s Battle Pass features all kinds of cosmetics and weapon blueprints for players to unlock, but one frustrating feature continues to anger Call of Duty players. While the Battle Pass offers free loot for every Warzone and Black Ops Cold War player, the ‘Buy 1 Tier’ feature is still causing trouble in Warzone Season 3. Whether you’re saving for the NecroKing Mastercraft bundle or aiming to keep your COD Points for the Season 4 Battle Pass, accidentally spending the game’s premium currency can prove frustrating. Purchasing COD Points doesn’t come cheap either, especially since the game’s most coveted skins cost around 2,400, which equates to $19.99/£16.79. Meanwhile, players that decide to grind the Battle Pass for COD Points will need to invest huge amounts of time in order to claim the free tier rewards. Because of this, many Call of Duty players have been voicing their anger at how easy it is to accidentally purchase a tier skip. Warzone Battle Pass Tier Skip frustrations The full Battle Pass can be purchased with 1,000 COD Points and players will receive 1,300 COD Points throughout its 100 Tiers. This currency can then be used to purchase Bundles within the Store or other cosmetics. As many players will know, ranking up the Battle Pass takes a very long time and it’s designed to reward those that play throughout the current season. Despite having a decent variety of in-game content to unlock, Activision has been criticized by fans for the “scummy” way it gets players to spend COD Points. Just like most Battle Pass systems, Warzone and Black Ops Cold War feature a tier skip function. As the name suggests, this allows the user to spend COD Points to skip a level in the Battle Pass. Not only does this enable you to avoid the grinding for that particular level, it will also instantly reward you with the tier’s reward. While this may sound like a great idea, the tier skip will set you back 150 COD Points. “This button is why I’ll never respect Activision, even though I love the game,” says Reddit user Stars_of_Sirius. This button is why I’ll never respect Activision even though I love the game. Two times since I started playing Warzone I have accidentally purchased a tier because it’s the same button as skip celebration. This scummy move without a confirmation is 100% intentional. byu/Stars_of_Sirius inCODWarzone “Two times since I started playing Warzone I have accidentally purchased a tier because it’s the same button as skip celebration. This scummy move without a confirmation is 100% intentional.” As of writing, there is currently no confirmation tab that pops up before you purchase a Battle Pass tier skip. Once you click the selection button, even if by accident, there is no going back. It’s definitely a frustrating feature and one many Call of Duty players believe is intentional. “You get a confirmation to buy your teammate back with Warzone money, but not COD Points. Priorities” continues Stars_of_Sirius. Since starting this thread, many Call of Duty players have chimed in on the matter. “The fact it’s not a hold to confirm is proof this is intentional. So cheap,” writes millsy744. Accidentally purchasing a Battle Pass Tier can end up being an incredibly expensive affair, especially if you have to repurchase more COD Points in order to recoup the currency you’ve just accidentally lost. This has also put a number of Warzone and Black Ops Cold War fans off purchasing the Battle Pass completely. “I’ve also hit it accidentally,” says VeterinarianParty192. “Since that happens, it means I can’t put any real money in the game because I could lose it this way.” Whether Activision will address this issue in an upcoming update remains to be seen, but for now, Call of Duty players will need to be extra vigilant when flicking through the game’s Battle Pass.

Warzone players amazed by Vanguard’s “insane” new mastery skins – Dexerto
Warzone players amazed by Vanguard’s “insane” new mastery skins Treyarch/ActivisionWarzone streamers and players are praising the new “insane” mastery camos arriving in multiplayer with the Pacific update. With the Warzone Pacific update on the cusp of releasing, players are gearing up to drop into the Caldera map and are ready to start causing havoc. Despite this, for a lot of the community, cosmetics are just as important as any of the major additions coming with the Vanguard integration. So, when Vanguard’s mastery camos were finally revealed in the Warzone engine, a lot of players were overwhelmingly impressed with the changes and improvements Raven Software has made. Warzone players impressed with Vanguard mastery camos Ahead of the Pacific update, a group of popular creators were given access to the new content ahead of time and some of them decided to browse through the new mastery camos. One of which was Call of Duty YouTuber JGOD, who showcased all of Vanguard’s mastery camos in the Warzone engine. With Gold, Diamond, and Atomic all being available to collect, they look significantly different from those that can be equipped in Vanguard. Vanguards Mastery Camos in the Warzone Pacific Engine ✅ Multiplayer ❌ ZombiesI think the Changes they Made are 🔥🔥🔥 Thoughts? pic.twitter.com/mCSJiYV9y8 — James – JGOD (@JGODYT) December 7, 2021 Although there has been a lot of disappointment surrounding mastery camos in the past, the community seems to absolutely love these new designs. Warzone pro and streamer Zack ‘ZLaner’ Lane even responded to the tweet describing the new skins as “insane” and praising the devs for taking the Vanguard camos to “another level”. Holy shit Atomic looks INSANE in Warzone. I liked it on vanguard but they took it to another level here. I can’t wait to rock this shit https://t.co/IpIA2sCiEo — OpTic ZLaner (@ZLaner) December 7, 2021 However, for a lot of Vanguard players who don’t play Warzone very often, seeing the tweaked mastery skins was frustrating. Call of Duty pro Chris Simp’ Lehr even shared his disappointment that the reworked skins for Warzone looked significantly better than those in Vanguard. Either way, it’s clear Raven has impressed the community with the changes to the new mastery skins and has finally got players excited to grind out rare camos. For Vanguard players, the only hope is that the devs tweak the skins in multiplayer to match those of Warzone, but it’s hard to know whether that’ll ever happen.

Warzone players already worried about new ‘Nebula’ bullets in Season 2 preventing revives – Dexerto
Warzone players already worried about new ‘Nebula’ bullets in Season 2 preventing revives ActivisionAfter weeks of rumors, we finally have our first look at Warzone Season 2. But before the new chapter has even got underway, players have expressed concerns over the new Nebula V bullets that will stop them from reviving teammates. Warzone Season 2 has officially been revealed, and we can finally see what’s new in the next chapter of the CoD battle royale. The additions of redeploy ballons and Portable Decontamination Stations, seemingly inspired by Apex Legends, have been mostly praised by players. However, not all of the new features have been welcomed with open arms. The new ‘Nebula V’ bullets have sparked concerns among the community, as they will apparently get in the way of reviving knocked squad members. Coming as a new Field Upgrade in Warzone Season 2, Nebula V ammo doesn’t deal any more damage than your standard rounds, but they do come with one huge benefit. Enemies downed while using the ammo will give off a cloud of poisonous gas. According to the official description on the Call of Duty website: “Anyone attempting to revive this Operator — or standing within a few feet of them — will face similar complications to Circle Collapse exposure: coughing, blurred vision, and a slight amount of damage over time, whether that be to a player’s health or to their Gas Mask duration.” Read More: When does Iron Trials ’84 return in Warzone? – This means that if you are attempting to revive a fallen teammate who was gunned down by Nebula rounds, you will need a Gas Mask to pick them up without taking damage. It’s not hard to imagine the chaos and frustration this could cause in frantic gunfights, especially in enclosed spaces like corridors. Although this feature is still yet to be implemented, Warzone players have made no secret of their worries. Reddit user pubgisDEAD kickstarted the debate, asking “why make the game more annoying in every update?” Plenty of other players responded slamming the new Field Upgrade. “This is one of the dumbest things I’ve seen. So now your s****y random teammates can get downed and directly ruin your chances with their gas cloud,” replied one player. “They have no clue what the game actually feels like to the players, so they just experiment. In most cases, the experiments go wrong.” Others mentioned that additions like this one curb their enthusiasm about the new season. “It really usually is the opposite of excitement for the new season. You sit around worrying about what idiotic [feature] they’re going to add that screws up gameplay for a few weeks.” It’s worth noting that Nebula V ammo will only apply to one clip before running out, but let’s hope that Raven has taken care with this new feature, and it won’t become a huge issue for the game going forward.

Warzone players already hate Armored War Machines before they’re added in Season 2 – Dexerto
Warzone players already hate Armored War Machines before they’re added in Season 2 ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players have been left annoyed with the news that Armored War Machines – tanks, basically – will be coming in the Season 2 update, as they want Raven to focus on other issues. The integration between Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone was met with plenty of hype from CoD fans, as many were excited to dive into the new map of Caldera. However, it hasn’t been completely smooth sailing for the CoD battle royale. Players have been left frustrated with some key gameplay changes, bugs and glitches have continued to stack up, and cheaters have had their way despite the launch of RICOCHET. The highly-anticipated Season 2 update is right around the corner, and while it should address some of the battle royale’s biggest issues, it seems to have caused another big headache with the announcement of Armored War Machines. If you’re out of the loop, no, the Armored War Machines are not an upgraded version of the classic CoD killstreak. They are, instead, just tanks that’ll be dropping into on Caldera. While some fans are happy about the new content, not everyone is, stating they’d rather just have updates that address the big issues. “I’d rather just have a stable game at this point then new content,” said one. “With all the issues this game has, in what world would anyone want “armored war machines” in this already broken game? Does anyone actually listen to the community?” questioned another CoD fan. “Is league play releasing when season 2 does or are we just going to add pointless things like “armored war machines” and “tanks” and “motorcycles,” commented another. Players: * Fix the buy station glitch * Add FOV to consoles so they can have equal capabilities to PC players * Fix the gun, operator, map artifacts/rendering problems * Fix 1000+ bugsActivision: * How about a armored war machine?! As of writing, it hasn’t been confirmed if the new vehicles will be locked to a limited-time mode, or in normal battle royale games, but players are worried.

Warzone players already frustrated with “super sweaty” Rebirth Island – Dexerto
Warzone players already frustrated with “super sweaty” Rebirth Island ActivisionWithin hours of the popular resurgence map arriving back in Call of Duty Warzone, players are already growing annoyed with the sheer number of “sweaty” opponents they’re coming up against on Rebirth Island. Rebirth Island was the first ever small-scale resurgence map in Warzone, launching in 2020 alongside the release of Black Ops Cold War. It quickly become a huge fan-favorite for its fast-paced and frenetic style, with players able to redeploy straight back into the action. It was removed in 2022 but, since then, players have been clamoring for it to come back, not really engaging with the newer resurgence maps in the same way — but now it’s returned for Season 3, and the complaints are already out in full force, as players deemed it too “sweaty” on launch day. Warzone streamer Stone Mountain asked if “every Rebirth lobby today was way too sweaty.” Another player likened it to a Dragon Ball Z tournament, while several others even said that ranked Rebirth was less sweaty than in public matches. Clearly there is some frustration from players who were hoping to have some easy-going games with their friends for the first time in almost two years on Rebirth Island. Of course, with Skill-based Matchmaking (SBMM), there’s always going to be some element of ‘sweatiness’ in the game as you’re matched up against opponents of a similar skill level, so you’re unlikely to get an easy ride through matches regardless. Whether this ‘sweatiness’ persists is impossible to tell — of course, every single Warzone player was dropping into Rebirth Island on Season 3 launch day, so it was always going to be much sweatier than usual, but most players will be hoping that this drops off as others start filtering back to Urzikstan and other maps in the future.

Warzone players accuse anti-cheat devs of taking “vacation” as cheaters exposed – Dexerto
Warzone players accuse anti-cheat devs of taking “vacation” as cheaters exposed ActivisionDespite numerous updates and attempts from Raven Software in ridding Warzone of hacking — cheaters are still slipping through the cracks and disrupting servers. The Warzone devs recently introduced a feature to its Ricochet anti-cheat system called “weapon disarm.” Essentially, when cheaters are detected, their guns and firsts are rendered useless. Raven Software regularly releases updates and improvements to its anti-cheat system. Cheating affects casual and competitive Warzone players. SideLogic, a popular Warzone streamer, was accused of cheating by his girlfriend. TimTheTatman showed a hilarious example of Ricochet doing its job correctly, but two videos surfaced on Reddit displaying quite the opposite. Cheating continues to plague Warzone players In the video below a player uses a zipline and then is immediately gunned down by a player who most likely is using some sort of aimbot. One person commented “cheating. 100%,” and it received 361 upvotes. Another person added, “do you know how hard it is to “insta-lock” on a guy free-falling out of one of those things? It is 100% a hacker and the level alone should have given it away.” The next video in question shows a player blatantly locking on to several different people scattered across different locations. One user commented, “I just don’t understand how people sit there and play multiple games and enjoy cheating and don’t feel bad. It is truly sociopathic.” Another person stated, “It has been really bad the last couple of weeks. The game is getting to be unplayable and my squad sees them almost every game now. Cheating appears to still be a consistent issue in Warzone. Ricochet works, but is it working enough to keep players satisfied? Some members of the community appear to have reservations.

Warzone players accidentally uncover genius Trophy System trick to push campers – Dexerto
Warzone players accidentally uncover genius Trophy System trick to push campers ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players may have accidentally found a new, unique use for Trophy Systems to kill campers. In a viral Reddit clip, a “200IQ” team managed to convert the field upgrade into bait for a rooftop push. Trophy Systems serve a very, very obvious purpose in Call of Duty: they obliterate incoming explosives, giving players a degree of safety. While this makes them optimal for holding rooms, it doesn’t mean much in terms of versatility. Whether by accident or on purpose, one team has now actually shown that the equipment can be used for making an aggressive push. It doesn’t really make sense, given the item’s traditional function, but somehow it works. A Redditor by the name of ‘DefunctHunk_COD’ was holding the Prison rooftop on Rebirth Island when they heard players coming up the stairs. Camping the stairwell, they were instantly baited and killed… thanks to the enemy’s Trophy play. “200IQ” Warzone trick uses Trophy System to push campers While DefunctHunk has admitted they probably would have lost the 1v2 fight anyway, the play was certainly interesting. In the title, Hunk explained that “the enemy baited me with a Trophy System.” In the comments, they explained that, even if it was unintentional, “it completely threw me off-guard.” As you see in the clip, Hunk is centered on the corner of the stairwell ready to kill the climbing enemies. The pushing team then throws a Trophy ahead, which – jumping into view like a slide-canceling Roze – instantly draws Hunk’s attention and gunfire. With Hunk’s centering ruined, the enemies then push up and secure an easy kill. You can discredit the camper for shooting at the metal object, but it’s actually a very interesting play. As someone in the comments mentioned, this could have been unintentional, although a legitimate strategy reminiscent of Counter-Strike. ‘Mongolmark23’ explained that the play “reminded me of CS:GO where people would throw their guns over corners to trick enemies into looking away.” Others agreed, crediting CS:GO for the “OG corner peek distraction.” So, next time you want to push a corner where campers are waiting, remember to use all of the tools at your disposal. Throwing a Trophy System to distract the enemy just might be enough to give you to turn a gunfight in your favor.

Warzone player uses IRL maneuvers to finesse in-game gunfight – Dexerto
Warzone player uses IRL maneuvers to finesse in-game gunfight ActivisionMovement is one of the most important skills to master in Warzone, but a player used a never-before-seen tactic by dodging IRL to avoid bullets being fired in-game. There are many elements to master in Warzone and while gun skill is one of the basic features, it stems far beyond shooting a weapon. Even though it sounds easy to move around on the map, not many people can do it quite like the king himself, JoeWo. However, a Warzone player breaks into the Matrix and could be the new finesse king thanks to a new IRL tactic to stay alive. Warzone streamer dodges bullets on face cam If you ain’t dodging IRL, you ain’t trying pic.twitter.com/HQX4sFKTf9 — Med (@Med1cine_) January 7, 2022 In this clip, you can see the player, ‘Med1cine’ got caught in a gunfight while trying to loot a dead body and what he did next was absolutely crazy. Naturally, he did what any gamer would do, dodged the bullets but he did this in a hilarious fashion. While his character was running away and finessing the enemies, Med1cine also decided to start weaving from his chair. For a straight minute, we get to see the Warzone steamer duck, dive, dip, and dodge every bullet that is being fired. It gets so excessive that he even manages to throw his face out of view of the camera. Some fans got into the spirit as well, with one claiming to have moved along, dodging the bullets while watching this mind-boggling play. “Looking at this had me dodging IRL with you.” Now, we’re not saying that this gives you superpowers but clearly this was giving him some magical advantage as he stayed alive for nearly a full minute when he should’ve died within seconds.

Warzone player turns FiNN into absurd chainsaw SMG using new loadout exploit – Dexerto
Warzone player turns FiNN into absurd chainsaw SMG using new loadout exploit Activision / PexelsA Call of Duty: Warzone player has taken advantage of a new Vanguard attachment exploit to turn Modern Warfare’s FiNN LMG into a monstrosity. By adding on a Gung-Ho perk, they turned the weapon into a ridiculous SMG. The newest exploit in Warzone is a bug that allows you to add a Vanguard primary perk to any gun in the game. Essentially, that means six attachments on Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War guns or 11 on Vanguard weapons. This trick has already allowed players to create ridiculous, unintended no-recoil loadouts for guns like the Modern Warfare PKM and Vanguard AS44. Those builds took advantage of recoil-controlling perks (e.g. Tight Grip), but movement perks can also be used. Vanguard’s Gung-Ho proficiency allows you to fire any gun while sprinting. Normally, this is reserved for specific SMGs in the 2022 title. Now, a player has used the exploit to transform some older guns into close-range monsters. Warzone exploit turns FiNN LMG into a nasty close-range loadout Gung-Ho on MW Finn Chainsaw and CW OTS lol @JGODYT pic.twitter.com/7IVK9zH8P1 — Stimmy2x (@Stimmy2x) March 1, 2022 Modern Warfare’s “chainsaw” FiNN LMG has some niche notoriety, as the heavy-hitting LMG got serious love as recently as January 2022 for its brute power. The most popular loadouts use the unique XRK Chainsaw stock, which turns the hefty gun into a hipfire-only menace. While that FiNN is pretty strong at closer ranges, mobility issues made it less useful than SMGs like the Welgun. As you can see in the footage from ‘stmxvii’ above, that changes completely once you add the Gung-Ho perk. Using the attachment exploit, stm was able to artificially enhance the FiNN’s movement. With the bugged loadout, the gun’s impressive hipfire recoil control and damage are blended with the ability to shoot while sprinting – decimating enemies. So, if you want to shock people with the strongest chainsaw SMG in CoD history, you better hurry up before the next patch is deployed.

Warzone player turns clutch into a death with one fatal mistake – Dexerto
Warzone player turns clutch into a death with one fatal mistake ActivisionA Warzone player has shared a clip of what was shaping up to be a clutch end to their match that ended up being a colossal mistake. The end of a Warzone match is always full of chaos. As the gas closes in around everyone, players will resort to any means to stay alive. There is very little room in which to operate, so they have to be careful to pull off the right move at the right time. But things don’t always go according to plan, as is the case with a clip shared by a player who thought they had the game in the bag before making a huge mistake. Warzone player turns a clutch move into a lethal mistake The player shared the clip on the Warzone subreddit, with a rather misleading title of: “Pulled off this insane clutch in solos today.” In the clip, the person is one of the last two people alive in the match, so they decide to use a Precision Airstrike on the opponent as the circle closes in. They aim it perfectly and flank around just in time for them to see the airstrike hit the enemy, knocking them down. It seems that they have the victory in hand, except they forget one vital thing: the airstrike has a second missile. As they approach the downed opponent, this second shot lands, killing them instantly, and the clip ends with the “2nd Place” screen taunting them. The response to the clip was standard banter, with one user saying, “I did not see that coming lmao.” Others pointed out that they got too greedy for the kill, resulting in their death. Honestly, these players might be correct. Unfortunately, the poster is now among the numerous slip-ups that have helped make Warzone what it is.

Warzone player turns a Juggernaut into a human Predator Missile to kill a chopper – Dexerto
Warzone player turns a Juggernaut into a human Predator Missile to kill a chopper ActivisionA Warzone player has used both the Juggernaut killstreak and a Jet-Ski to blast them into the sky and destroy an enemy chopper. Call of Duty’s Warzone 2 has been impacted by bugs since it was first released, from less harmful glitches to more impactful bugs. In August, Modern Warfare 2’s battle royale mode was negatively impacted by a game-breaking bug that knocked down players in the pre-game lobby that carried on when the match actually started. This particular glitch has since been officially fixed by the developers Raven Software. However, a player has found an ingenious way to use a range of different things in Warzone to create a wild trick that allows players to be launched into the sky and take out enemy helicopters. Warzone player becomes a human Predator Missile to destroy a chopper A user posted to the Modern Warfare 2 subreddit with a clip stating it was “The coolest thing I’ve ever done on CoD.” The clip shows the player using the Juggernaut killstreak standing on the back of a Jet-Ski, while one friend drives it and another uses their own transport chopper underneath as a way to ingeniously launch them into the sky. As the player flies all the way past the enemy chopper and leaves the combat area, they then fall and purposely launch themselves towards the chopper where it explodes on impact. Comments have since flooded in praising the video, “This is it, the hardest clip of MW2,” one said. “This is unbelievable. How do you even come up with this,” a commenter said. “Holy fucking sh*t! Feels like I’m watching a Mission Impossible movie. Well f*cking done,” another said. It was made possible via the Juggernaut killstreak, which is dropped onto the map via a care package, where once activated the player’s health is increased making them almost invincible. Warzone players have become increasingly frustrated as players have continued to be banned for voice chat messages, meanwhile, actual cheaters have been left unbanned.

Warzone player trolled by Kong in first ever Operation Monarch match – Dexerto
Warzone player trolled by Kong in first ever Operation Monarch match ActivisionOperation Monarch brings the Titans Godzilla and King Kong to Caldera for an immersive and fully-interactable environment. Though this has been an exciting time in the game, it does pose some unique risks and players are finding that out the hard way. Warzone’s Limited-Time Modes have always tried to bring a new flavor to the classic battle royale experience. Operation Monarch is no different, as it places players directly in the center of a Goliath vs. Goliath battle as Godzilla and King Kong duke it out for all to see. Though might seem like a fun time, being this close to the fight poses some real risks, and Kong treated one unlucky player to the scene of a (soon to be ending) lifetime. Warzone player trolled by King Kong in Operation Monarch Reddit user beepbeepblooop entered into their first round of the LTM and was just coasting in the skies and taking in the unusual sights. After a moment of scanning, the King of the jungle enters the screen and can be seen chucking a boulder across the map before turning his sights in their Operator’s direction. That’s when Kong takes into the air with terrifying ease and absolutely wipes them out before they even get a chance to land. Of course, the rest of the community immediately embraced the humor in the situation. One user likened it to Will Smith’s infamous Oscars incident and joked that the OP must have crossed a line: “Kong said ‘keep my wife’s name out your mother f***ing mouth!!!’” Another player drew a comparison to Overwatch, suggesting that Kong was just taking a lesson out of Winston’s playbook: “This reminds me of Overwatch. When I would play as Winston and would leap into the air to slap some Egyptian Rocket Lady.” While there’s plenty of fun to be had in the new mechanics and revamped gameplay of Operation Monarch, anyone who decides to hop in should be aware that the environment fights back much harder than usual in this one.

Warzone player “told on” themselves after posting advertised cheats – Dexerto
Warzone player “told on” themselves after posting advertised cheats ActivisionA Warzone player may have just outed themselves after posting an image of Reddit advertising a COD cheat to them. Warzone has had a big issue with cheaters in the game, from aimbots to hacks that allow absurd shots. The community has long spoken out against the prevalence of these cheats, often taking to social media to discuss it. Now, a Warzone fan did just this but may have actually revealed themselves as a cheater in the process. Warzone player outs themselves as cheater The person in question posted on the Warzone subreddit about how the site was advertising a COD cheat, and asking why Reddit is showing this to them. The image on the post shows the ad, which promises an “undetected and secure” cheat that has been around since 2020. While the poster surely expected the community to respond with equal outrage, it was quickly pointed out that the whole thing is more telling than originally expected: “I’ve never seen one of these ads. Aren’t they targeted given your browsing history?” Other Warzone users are quick to confirm this, saying that Reddit’s ads are geared towards what people have been searching for, meaning this player has been looking for cheats. ‘Well, where have you been recently that google picked it up to suggest you that?” is a common question being asked. While some fans have been a little lighthearted about the accidental confession, others are a bit harsher with their criticisms: “OP is either advertising here or he’s dumb enough to not realize it’s his search history.” Of course, it could be a completely different case, which the original poster claims is the case, but the community isn’t buying it.

Warzone player thanks developers after seeing their suggested change in patch notes – Dexerto
Warzone player thanks developers after seeing their suggested change in patch notes ActivisionRaven Software does a good job communicating with Warzone players and has taken their suggestions into account. Season 5: Last Stand is the final major Warzone update of the Vanguard era and Activision has decided to go out with several callbacks in the last season, including weapons inspired by Advanced Warfare’s EM1 and Modern Warfare 2’s F2000. Black Ops 2’s primary antagonist Raul Menendez highlights an all-star final cast of new operators, but Activision also pulled out all the stops adding several new gameplay features. Rage Serum is a new field upgrade that grants “superior melee damage, increased lunge distance, and enhanced stun power while fighting with melee weapons or fists.” Other added features for Season 5 include Supply Box UAV Killstreaks and a fan-requested Personal Supply Box. Warzone Season five includes nod to player feedback Warzone player Butterflychunks pitched an idea: “instead of dropping generic loot, I think 1-2 items dropped by legendary crates should be items randomly selected from your personal loadouts.” They claimed, “it would add value to looting crates, rather than flooding buy stations.” Activision may have taken inspiration from the idea by adding Personal Supply Boxes in season five. Personal Supply Boxes are “extremely rare crates” that reward favorited loadout weapons. The community had a mixed reaction to the new feature. One Warzone player argued, ” I think it would just be nice to have a more streamlined way to play the game without even touching a buy station if you didn’t want to.” opposing that view, a second user stated, “What a step backward.” Warzone players can’t reach a consensus on the new feature, but Raven Software is not afraid to try new ideas out and listen to the community.

Warzone player stealthily abuses enemy loadout drop issue to win game – Dexerto
Warzone player stealthily abuses enemy loadout drop issue to win game ActivisionGetting a win in Warzone can entail some devilish tasks and one player went every length to secure a victory by exploiting an enemy loadout drop UI feature to hide in plain sight. Loadout drops have been a hot topic in the Warzone community since the Pacific update. While players continue to go back and forth with one another about the change, they might want to start talking about another feature. When loadout markers are called in, they appear on your screen with a bright blue icon. This indicates the exact location it’s at and how far away you are. While it seems like a helpful tool, it may need to be changed as a player has found a way to abuse this seemingly normal feature. Warzone players uses hidden tactic for easy win A Reddit post from ‘peteoc22’ exposed themself for using a bizarre feature to hide in plain sight. This allowed the player to get an easy down and eventually the kill. In the first picture, we take a look at the enemy’s POV, which is focused on the blue Loadout Drop icon that indicates how far away the package is. In the second picture, we see Peteoc camping right where that marker is on the opponent’s screen. Since the icon is very large, it meant that the enemy was unable to locate them as they were hiding behind this UI feature. Peteoc sat in this spot until the enemy came right into their crosshair. This gave them a free down and let them push for an easy final kill. The victim of this weird interaction was a streamer and, lucky for us, we have the clip from when it happened. You can see that the enemy, ‘Moonryde‘ couldn’t see that someone was hiding right next to the loadout drop. After seeing this, a fan asked if there was an option to get rid of some of the visuals. “Is there a way to make all markers smaller or go away or be more see-through?” Unfortunately, at this time there isn’t an option for that, but many think there should be: “There is so much visual unnecessary garbage that pops up on the screen. Let me turn all the visual alerts off.“ While this isn’t a game-breaking issue, it can definitely turn into a more frustrating encounter. So fans will have to see if it becomes a bigger problem that Raven wants to address.

Warzone player stealing loadouts with hilarious tactic goes viral – Dexerto
Warzone player stealing loadouts with hilarious tactic goes viral ActivisionA Warzone player has been driving around Rebirth Island stealing loadouts from people in the most hilarious way possible. Plenty of funny clips have circulated on social media of players interacting with loadout drops in different ways, from phantom enemies landing next to them or dying to one striking them on the head. However, there’s always something funnier waiting to happen in Call of Duty’s battle royale. A clip of someone stealing a loadout drop took things to an entirely different level that wasn’t known to be possible, using a vehicle to inflict misery on their opponents. Warzone player steals loadouts with truck As players will know by now, saving up the amount needed for a loadout is one of the most important elements of a match. If you get enough cash in the bank, you can grab one of your customized classes – which, in theory, are better than much of the ground loot. Reddit user funkyopossum posted a video on May 29, showing how they go about stealing weapons from others – and it’s hilarious. The clip instantly jumped to the top of the CODWarzone Reddit page, racking up over 6,000 upvotes. The squad that bought the drop frantically tried to equip their loadouts while the thief drove away, but ultimately everyone involved comically fell off a cliff at the end. One Reddit user commented “I thought the enemies surfing the truck to their death was the icing on the cake, then I saw the last guy fly in and die… I guess it’s a double iced cake.” Another person commented: “Some meant aren’t looking for anything logical like loadouts. They can’t be bought bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.” Many will be hoping this marks the start of a brand new trend and more hilarious videos such as this one get posted on Reddit or social media.

Warzone player spawns army of Zombies in “game breaking” easter egg bug – Dexerto
Warzone player spawns army of Zombies in “game breaking” easter egg bug ActivisionWarzone players were left scratching their heads when a Zombies easter egg in the new Fortune’s Keep map went bizarrely wrong and led to a swarm of undead charging around the lobby. Among the wealth of new content Season 4 brought to Call of Duty: Warzone, the new Fortune’s Keep map was the pick of the bunch. A smaller and faster map, designed to emulate the play styles that thrive on Rebirth Island, it has gone down a treat with players of all calibers. While the map is not geared toward Zombies players (obviously), it did come with a cool easter egg that allows players to spawn an undead friend. However, the easter egg has now brought with it a bizarre bug that is ruining matches for players simply seeking to have some fun. The Fortune’s Keep Zombies easter egg works by dropping to the map’s Graveyard and lighting three candles located around the POI. After that, players should line up and pay their respects at a small gravestone. Doing so spawns one zombie for players to play around with. At least, in theory. Redditor ‘TheMeatMaker‘ shared a “game-breaking” bug they encountered upon completing the easter egg, seeing a whole hoard of zombies spawn out of the gravestone. After that, the hoard chased the players around the map before freezing completely as the game progressed. All in all, the player counted 26 zombies that spawned and froze. The OP commented that it was repeated in later games, but that it’s not exactly clear what enabled them and their teammates to do so. We can also expect a rapid patch from Raven, with the OP confirming that “it crashes the game most of the time” when all the zombies spawn at once. Just another day in Warzone.

Warzone player somehow sells unique clan tag for $1,000 – Dexerto
Warzone player somehow sells unique clan tag for $1,000 ActivisionMoney can’t buy happiness, but it can buy… clan tags? A Call of Duty: Warzone player has revealed that they were able to sell off a pretty unique in-game regiment for a hefty $1,000. You’ve got a bunch of personalization options in Call of Duty: Warzone. You can customize your guns, Operator, and your gamer tag (although not too often). But you can also join a regiment, which is an invite-only way to equip an exclusive clan tag. It’s just a set of letters or characters before your gamertag, but people like their regiments — especially when they’re on the unique side of things. There’s perhaps no better example of that than xMrGodz, who owned a three-button regiment that somehow showed the PlayStation symbols for R3, down on the D-pad, and L2. Apparently a highly coveted series of symbols, he was able to sell said regiment for… $1,000. Sold the 3 button regiment for 1000$, sorry if you get kicked I don’t own it anymore . That was my last regiment, goodbye “”can i get an inv”” pic.twitter.com/uGNuUTvkSS — Godz (@xMrGodz) July 10, 2021 As Godz explained, he sold the regiment and it’s not his fault if people get kicked anymore. Additionally, this will be the last regiment he makes. In the replies, some people are definitely a little annoyed — mentioning that they wasted time trying to get in, only for it to get sold off. As ‘WxTER’ responded, apparently some people had to watch Godz’s Twitch stream for long enough to get 10,000 channel points in order to get an invite. Godz responded that he didn’t want to sell invites and has been doing this regiment stuff for two years. That explains why he would be happy to sell it off and made mention of this being his last regiment: “good bye, ‘can I get an inv.” While some people are annoyed that the three-button regiment is no longer available to them, it’s hard to argue with the rationale. Getting people to watch your stream is one thing, but getting $1,000 is… pretty appealing. Read more: ZLaner silences Warzone cheating claims by dropping 38 kills with outrageous stream setup – If there are any other developments in the regiment economy, we’ll keep people updated. In the meantime, I guess it might be time to figure out how on earth they make these custom clan tags.

Warzone player shows why crossbow could be the most underrated weapon – Dexerto
Warzone player shows why crossbow could be the most underrated weapon ActivisionThe Warzone meta is constantly changing, and staying on top of it can give you a great advantage. Sometimes though, experimenting with other weapons can be beneficial, as one CoD Warzone player proved with an insane crossbow display. Over the years, the Warzone meta has changed constantly, from the dark days of DMRZone to the Burst Rifle and MAC-10 meta. The devs are always tinkering with their toys which leads to some guns rising to the occasion and some falling from grace like the AMAX did. Warzone Pacific has kept Caldera fairly balanced so far, with some notable exceptions such as the Bren, Automaton, and Cooper Carbine. Amidst the sea of 100+ guns that Warzone now has, there is always a hidden gem waiting to be uncovered and the Crossbow might just be it. Warzone crossbow could be meta option The Crossbow’s pick rate isn’t anywhere near as high as many other guns in the game, probably because of the skill gap required to use it. Like Sniper Rifles, the Crossbow demands a high degree of accuracy to use due to its bolt-action nature. But as Reddit user DaveyDST has proven, some competent firing can lead to some truly outstanding gameplay. In a compilation video, they showed the versatility of the weapon with insane shots whilst flying and accurate arrows in intense 1v1 situations. Along with the Crossbow, they also sported a Riot Shield to absorb a few clips before either unleashing a barrage of bolts or trapping an enemy player in the poison of a Gas Grenade. Warzone Reddit users were impressed with the nature of the loadout and gameplay, especially as the player scored 15 kills en route to a Warzone Victory! “You sir are a gloriously terrible human being. Kill me with that loadout and I will angrily applaud the hell out of you,” joked one user. Another said: “I absolutely love that you aren’t playing like a rat to win with this. You’re out there with 15 kills like a mad man! Love it.”

Warzone player shows off legendary blueprint weapon that annihilates team – Dexerto
Warzone player shows off legendary blueprint weapon that annihilates team ActivisionWarzone Season 2 Reloaded gave Rebirth Island a complete makeover with a slew of Legendary weapon blueprints to find and use. This one loadout, in particular, has raised a few eyebrows as it’s shredding enemies. Warzone players have been impressed with using the new features found on Rebirth Island since the March 23 mid-season update. From Easter egg keycards to the Weapon Trade System, the community has been loving the content. However, one of the newest additions, legendary blueprint weapons found on Rebirth Island, have captivated quite the buzz. There are 15 of these blueprint weapons located throughout Rebirth Island, waiting for you to wield them in all their glory. These guns are immensely powerful, with some being better than others, but one, in particular, has raised a few eyebrows within the Warzone fan base. Warzone player shows off the Denominator Redditor Neekhac uploaded a video of him finding the Denominator, a legendary blueprint for the Black Ops Cold War Stoner 63, in the basement of Bioweapon Labs. Equipping the gun almost immediately, the Redditor can be seen sprinting across the way to make his escape into a nearby building. Then, taking cover and readjusting his focus towards the door he previously entered, he awaits his prey. Using the might of the Denominator, Neekhac shows off the weapon and lays waste to three players attempting to soil his run at a Warzone victory. The damage and the fire rate of the gun are incredibly wicked as the shots eliminate their targets effortlessly. Read More:Warzone next-gen update for PS5, Xbox Series X: Performance upgrades, release date, rumors – What’s most interesting about the Denominator’s prowess is that the gun hasn’t been used by many on Rebirth Island in the past, but now is putting on an eye-raising performance.

Warzone player shares “wholesome” moment where they let new player live – Dexerto
Warzone player shares “wholesome” moment where they let new player live ActivisionA Warzone player shares a heartwarming clip where they show mercy to a player they realize is new to the game. Warzone is usually seen as a cutthroat, free-for-all where players are gunning each other down without a second thought. However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t room in there for some fun, heartwarming situations to unfold. Such is the case with a recent clip that was shared, showing one of these wholesome moments of a player sparing the life of a newbie. Warzone player shares kind gesture of mercy to new player The clip was shared to the Warzone subreddit, where the poster shared: “I realized this guy is new to the game so I let him live :D.” The clip itself shows the player easily downing another person with just a pistol, which clues them into them being rather new to the game. As a result, they turn to game chat and offer the downed player a chance to live if they give them some Armor Plates to make up for what they’ve lost in the fight. After the exchanging of plates, the player then asks if they’d like to fight again, to which the newbie clearly shakes their character’s head and the two part ways. The responses to the clip have been appreciative of the warmth shown to the new Warzone player. As one of the top comments says: “Hahahah love this! Good for you, OP, for not taking the game so serious and actually having some fun!” Another user echoes the sentiment in saying: “Quality content right here, love how he just shook right and left for no lmao.” However, some are a little suspicious of the whole interaction, as many believe the player exhibits too much knowledge to be new to the game. “… plates were instantly dropped. Any new player would probably accidently throw a stun, crouch and drop his gun while trying to find out how to drop plates.” No matter the experience of the downed player, the situation makes for a fun clip that shows how Warzone doesn’t have to be so serious all the time.

Warzone player shadowbanned for abusing plane K/D trick – Dexerto
Warzone player shadowbanned for abusing plane K/D trick ActivisionThe Warzone community has been dealing with waves of shadowbans since the Pacific update. Now, a player is claiming they’ve received one just for boosting their K/D with Caldera’s planes. In Warzone, a shadowban is something that happens when Raven Software flag an account for suspicious activity. This puts the account in a lockdown where it’s nearly impossible to find a match. This has become a large issue as reports of accounts getting flagged come more frequently since the Pacific update. As part of the change, Caldera was introduced to replace Verdansk and this map has apparently provided an easy way to get shadowbanned. Warzone player shadowbanned for raising K/D with planes Caldera brought a World War II theme, introducing vehicles like tanks, trucks, and planes. The community thinks the fighter planes, specifically, are extremely overpowered. Streamer IceManIsaac even revealed an easy trick to boost your K/D ratio with them. All you need to do is load into Vanguard Royale, find a plane, and start racking up kills. But this is where things get a little fishy, as a Warzone player is claiming they were shadowbanned for abusing this feature. In a YouTube video, TimTheTatman was spectating a solo match when he ran into a level 1 account. The player went off with 23 kills which made Tim doubt that they were clean. However, he came to realize it was actually a Warzone streamer ImDilla on an alt account. After the game, Tim hopped into a lobby with him to discuss why he was on a low-level account. Dilla claims that his account was shadowbanned due to his tactic of using planes in matches and he had to make another one. “I have been averaging between a 7 to a 10 weekly K/D because of the planes.” He thinks this resulted in him being mass reported by other players that check out his Warzone stats. According to CoD Tracker, he has a 4.55 lifetime K/D, so some people could be suspecting he’s a cheater. Tim said that Dilla isn’t suspicious at all “I know Dilla, he’s not a cheater, I know who that is, he’s not cheating.” So if a legit player can be shadowbanned just for using Caldera’s planes, other pilots might need to be a little cautious before piling those kills up.

Warzone player shadowbanned after game gave him wallhacks – Dexerto
Warzone player shadowbanned after game gave him wallhacks ActivisionA Warzone player was left stunned after being kicked out of a match as it reached its climax — after some textures failed to render and essentially gave him free wallhacks. In almost four years, Warzone has never managed to be devoid of bugs and glitches that can leave players scratching their heads, be it the gas mask glitch or even the demon gun glitch, which fortunately hasn’t found its way back into the game in some time now. That said, most of these bugs and glitches are frustrating, but not so much so that players can get banned — though evidently that isn’t always the case, as one player found out the hard way. Sharing his clip to social media, Warzone player AmarOriginal couldn’t believe his bad luck when the game failed to render certain walls or textures on the rocks he was traversing, letting him see players through them. While this did technically give him an advantage in-game, it didn’t take long for the game to cotton on to something weird happening — and punished Amar for the issue. With just three players left and 19 kills, the floor upon which Amar was running started to go disappear and let him see right through, at one point exposing an enemy player that Amar was trying to find, to whom he quickly tried to shoot through the rocks, to no avail. After rounding the corner and killing his opponent, Amar promptly found himself staring at a blank screen before getting a popup saying ‘Player Kicked.’ He checked online and, sure enough, his matchmaking had been limited, essentially meaning he got a shadowban, despite the problem being on the game’s end. It’s unlikely Activision or Warzone devs Raven Software can retrospectively remove these bans, but no doubting Amar will be feeling incredibly hard done by after this.

Warzone player ruins enemy moaning about “campers” on Rebirth Island – Dexerto
Warzone player ruins enemy moaning about “campers” on Rebirth Island Activision BlizzardA Call of Duty: Warzone player recently clapped back at another who for complaining about “campers” on Rebirth Island. Accusations of camping remain commonplace in all manner of competitive online shooters – Call of Duty: Warzone included. Of course, the actions of some players often warrant such claims. Hiding in a corner to pick off unaware passersby or behind an easy-to-miss object is a favorite tactic for many a camper. In many instances, though, angrily calling someone a camper backfires for those who were simply caught slipping during a match. Moaning about campers on Rebirth Island doesn’t work out for this Warzone fan A Redditor who goes by Premiumsargeantmajor recently shared a gameplay clip of themselves dropping into Rebirth Island in Warzone. Before landing on solid ground, the player spots someone lying prone behind a car and quickly takes them out of the picture. Naturally, the newly deceased player is less than pleased about this turn of events, crying out, “nice camping.” “Nice camping? Dude, I just came from the sky,” replied the Redditor. As another user, MriDecay, noted in the Reddit thread, regardless of how one player dispatches another, “you will always be camping in death comms.” At the very least, the other player learned a valuable lesson – no matter how well you duck behind cover, nowhere is as safe as it seems. Call of Duty players would do well to remember as much when the next chapter of Warzone touches down this fall. Warzone 2.0 launches on PC and consoles in November, complete with a new map known as Al Mazrah boasting points of interest inspired by classic Modern Warfare locales.

Warzone player revives classic “noob tube” with double MK11 Launcher loadout – Dexerto
Warzone player revives classic “noob tube” with double MK11 Launcher loadout Infinity WardA Warzone player dominated a Rebirth Island match with two MK11 launchers, reminiscent of CoD’s classic ‘noob tube.’ In Warzone’s final month before Warzone 2 releases, it is the perfect time to try outside-of-the-box loadouts. The battle royale features over 150 weapons in its arsenal, so you might as well try them all out while you still can. Activision confirmed previous content, such as Operators, weapon skins, and blueprints, will not transfer over from the original Warzone. The developers built Warzone 2 from the ground up using a new engine and map, Al Mazrah. Weapons also do not carry over, meaning players should take this opportunity to give the meta a rest and get out of their comfort zone a bit. One player did just that by discovering an ingenious double MK11 launcher loadout. Warzone player reveals deadly MK11 “noob tube” loadout Reddit user Curtisjoesakic revealed a loadout using two MK11 Launchers. To carry two secondary weapons simultaneously, the Reddit user had to equip one from a Loadout Drop and find the other as ground loot. Using just the two launchers, the Warzone player recorded 19 kills in a resounding victory on Rebirth Island. According to WZ Ranked, the MK11 Launcher only gets equipped .87% of the time as a secondary weapon, but it boasts an impressive 2.80% win rate. One player responded, “I have it as my secondary, takes me back to the MW2 day’s noob tube on my AR. This is better, though; I didn’t know about 2.” There used to be an attachment in classic CoD titles that allowed you to equip a grenade launcher onto ARs. The CoD community coined the term “noob tube” based on the sometimes overpowered attachment. A second user added, “Playing this; I would hate you; watching this, I love you.” Don’t be afraid to try fun and unique loadouts while you still can in Warzone.

Warzone player reveals Supply Drop trap that’s a hilarious “d**k move” – Dexerto
Warzone player reveals Supply Drop trap that’s a hilarious “d**k move” ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone Pacific brought the arrival of Supply Drop contracts and players are taking advantage of them for new shenanigans. In one clip, a player showed how you can turn an enemy’s crate into a rude booby trap. As the timeless adage goes, “money makes the world go round.” And that’s no lie in Caldera, since Warzone players need big bucks for their loadouts and even more UAV money than they did in Verdansk. The easiest way to secure a lot of cash and goodies in a little time is by using a Supply Drop contract. It drops a crate in a nearby location, allowing you to pick up money and items for free – perfect to get your economy rolling. But enemies can see anyone’s Supply Drop location, as the landing zone is marked by green smoke. As Reddit’s ‘sir_ornery’ demonstrated, this knowledge can be capitalized on for a fatal trap. Turning Warzone Supply Drops into lethal traps In what sir_ornery is calling the “Drop goes boom trap,” they notice the green smoke of an enemy’s Supply Drop and pounce on the opportunity. Placing two Proximity Mines atop the smoking canister, they then move away to test the explosive ambush out. Eventually, an enemy arrives by helicopter to claim their prize. And, with ornery watching, the wishful looter secures their crate – only to become instantly downed and killed, along with their chopper. The trap is a very effective one and is already striking fear into others’ hearts. One user sarcastically thanked ornery for revealing the tactic: “thank you, now I will be traumatized to get cash drops.” But others appreciated the idea, calling it “genius” and, in a more colorful reaction: “a d**k move… I like it.” With how relatively new Supply Drops are to Warzone, you can definitely pull this off before people start catching on. Just find some green smoke, plant the explosives, and go watch the suffering from afar.

Warzone player reveals “pro” strategy to make Claymores & Proximity Mines even deadlier – Dexerto
Warzone player reveals “pro” strategy to make Claymores & Proximity Mines even deadlier Activision/TreyarchA thrifty Warzone player has discovered a trick with gas canisters that actually makes equipment like Claymores and Proximity Mine a lot more useful in the battle royale. When playing Warzone, players will typically lean toward meta loadouts, as they tend to give you the best chance at winning. However, that doesn’t mean that less popular items are completely useless and not viable to pick up wins. When it comes to equipment, players will usually run throwing knives or grenades, but a new strategy is actually making two other items really useful as well. Warzone strat to make Claymores & Proximity Mines better In a Reddit post by ‘domthebomb83’ the user talks about a “pro tip” that they discovered, which involves Claymores and Proximity Mines blowing people to pieces. Claymores and Proximity Mines are pretty easy to spot or run through, so they aren’t used as much. However, Dom says that if you simply find a gas canister and place it near your equipment it will result in a mass explosion. One Redditor said, they have tried this before and found it to be one of the greatest things. “I stacked 3 at one door once with a Claymore. Buddy [enemy] went down and then died in the last explosion.” We’ve seen strategies with gas cans in the past, as they served as a great counter to zipliners, but now it’s serving a great purpose for off-meta loadouts. According to WZRanked, Claymores and Proximity Mines both rank in the bottom half when it comes to pick rate of equipment. However, this trick could make these see a little increase in use as they create massive explosions. So, if you’re a camper or like to catch enemies by surprise, definitely give this a try in your next game.

Warzone player reveals “OP” trick to win game with PDS & vehicle – Dexerto
Warzone player reveals “OP” trick to win game with PDS & vehicle ActivisionA Call of Duty: Warzone player discovered a sneaky maneuver with the PDS System field upgrade and a vehicle. He’s now demonstrated this trick for the community and people are ready to try it out themselves. Warzone’s PDS (Portable Decontamination Station) field upgrade was a new addition in Season 2 and is gradually becoming more popular. Essentially acting as an air purifier, the item allows players to withstand the noxious gasses for a little bit of time – which can prove critical when used at the right time. While the PDS isn’t nearly as popular as field upgrades like Trophy System and Dead Silence, people are learning how to take advantage of its potential. After one player showed how you can combine it with a Redeploy Balloon for wild rotations, another is now revealing its upside when coupled with a vehicle. Posted to Reddit by ‘TeeshTV,’ the trick instantly gained traction with the community. Warzone trick uses PDS & vehicle for game-winning play Overall, the trick is a very simple and intuitive one, but PDS systems are new to the game so many might not have considered it. Basically, you can throw a PDS onto your vehicle – the same way you would with a Trophy System. Once you have a PDS on the vehicle, it becomes literally portable. In Teesh’s case, this meant he could quickly rotate out of the circle and into the gas, before driving back into some enemies from an angle they couldn’t possibly predict. With Teesh pulling the enemies’ attention, his team was able to rotate forward without getting held. That bought them enough space to push up and take shots, as he drove into the enemies from behind – downing one and then getting out of the car to finish the rest. While movement and gun skill are critical in Call of Duty, Warzone also rewards players who think outside of the box. People immediately appreciated Teesh’s “OP” trick, with one responding “damn, what a play through the gas.” Another took this rotation strategy as inspiration for their next session: “Dang I am excited to get home and try this.”

Warzone player reveals how to reverse-engineer SBMM for “bot lobbies” – Dexerto
Warzone player reveals how to reverse-engineer SBMM for “bot lobbies” ActivisionAs Call of Duty: Warzone’s players continue to grapple with skill-based matchmaking (SBMM), some have discovered an unfair workaround to guarantee easy bot lobbies. From Infinity Ward to Treyarch and Raven Software, the developers Activision have enlisted for Call of Duty: Warzone have remained completely silent about their approach to SBMM. Instead, the game’s millions of players have had to come up with theories about the matchmaking algorithms themselves. Warzone debuted in March 2020 and players have spent months arguing about the merits of SBMM and its enforcement. Some believe it’s necessary to protect newer or more casual players, others believe it unfairly punishes players for having good games. Most lie somewhere in between, simply hoping for some transparency and balance to the matchmaking system. Recently, fans have discovered their own way to achieve some level of transparency by using the SBMM Warzone website — which allows you to view full kill-death-ratio (K/D) data for your entire lobby. Using that and some experimentation, YouTuber ‘Rara’ has discovered the method for reverse-boosting into bot lobbies and simultaneously exposed a streamer for using said method to get easy content. While we won’t detail the specifics of this method, it’s relatively simple and easy to pull off, although it does require multiple accounts and multiple gaming setups. While it’s unclear how prevalent the issue is, it’s clear that numerous players have been taking advantage of it. Read more: Best Warzone weapons to replace the DMR – “I debated doing this. I debated leaving it alone until it was fixed. But I feel like if I’m gonna use this, because I am and I’m gonna put a disclaimer every time I do, I want you guys to be able to use it. I really fought with the thought.” Ultimately, while Rara wasn’t sure if he should post the video explaining the method, he decided it was worth sharing so that Activision can address it and streamers can be held accountable. One such streamer is YouTube’s ‘Hydro,’ who Rara relentlessly exposed and critiqued for abusing this method to ensure easier lobbies. Unsurprisingly, the relatively new content creator was not thrilled with the backlash. https://twitter.com/hvdro/status/1347188360885006336 In response to being called out, Hydro proceeded to draw a difference between his abuse of the game’s system “for content,” versus the cheating taking place in monied Warzone tournaments. Read more: 7 best Call of Duty Warzone players to watch – While the developers have yet to address SBMM, fans are continuing to find ways to learn how it can be manipulated. With accusations flying left and right, either for content or tournaments, the game’s community is diving deeper into matchmaking discourse. Additionally, it should be noted that we do not recommend that any players use this reverse-boosting method themselves. Developers have punished accounts for abusing similar methods in the past and users could find their accounts in jeopardy should they game the system.

Warzone player recreates Rick Flag’s iconic Suicide Squad shotgun in-game – Dexerto
Warzone player recreates Rick Flag’s iconic Suicide Squad shotgun in-game Activision/DC FilmsRick Flag has become an iconic character from the DC Comics, and one dedicated fan has brought his favored shotgun to Verdansk by recreating it in Warzone. Rick Flag wasn’t always a beloved character, but he definitely became a far more likable and capable leader in The Suicide Squad, a clear upgrade thanks to director James Gunn. Flag can often be recognized carrying his shotgun, with much of the film’s art and promotional imagery showing him carrying it. Now, one Warzone player has brought it to Verdansk and Rebirth Island, putting together the gun in a very off-meta build. The best part about the Warzone gunsmith is the options it gives players. You can make one gun do so many different things thanks to the attachments available. Read More: 10 most popular weapons in Warzone right now – One thing the Warzone devs probably didn’t anticipate, though, was players putting together builds based on popular weapons from the big screen, as parz1valt did here. As it turns out, it’s fairly simple to recreate Flag’s shotgun in Warzone, using the 725 from Modern Warfare. Here are the attachments needed to replicate it as accurately as possible: Barrel: Tempus 32” Competitor – Stock: Cronen Equilibrium – Ammunition: Slug Rounds – Guard: Tempus SlimGrip – Perk: Sleight of Hand – Obviously, it’s impossible to recreate the shotgun perfectly, as you are limited to what’s available in the game, but this isn’t too far off it. The main problem with this is that it’s pretty restrictive when it comes to actually getting kills in the game. If you’re looking to have a bit of fun with your friends, it could be a laugh, but we would expect to spend a lot of time in the Gulag.

Warzone player puzzled after being kicked for inactivity mid-game – Dexerto
Warzone player puzzled after being kicked for inactivity mid-game ActivisionA Warzone player is absolutely baffled after being kicked back to the lobby for inactivity mid-game, despite being active. The Warzone community are no strangers to some bizarre bugs, glitches, and weird exploits. In the past, we’ve seen bugs find players stuck in the gulag with no way out, or find themselves encountering invincible enemies on the train. Now, some are running into a bug that has them being kicked from the game for inactivity right in the middle of a match. Warzone bug falsely kicks players for inactivity In a Reddit post on January 13, one Warzone player was baffled as to how they’d been kicked from the game for “inactivity,” despite being active. “Kicked for inactivity? Where? I wasn’t even inactive while being res’d,” they wrote. The player also showed a video, showing them being revived after being downed before suddenly being booted back to the lobby as they were running around. It appears others are running into a similar problem too. In the replies to the post, several players explained their own experiences, claiming the issue even goes back to the original Warzone. “Did you break your legs returning from the gulag or redeploy?” One reply asked. “I’ve seen it happen many times to my friends in that exact situation, it’s so stupid that it hasn’t been addressed yet.” “Happened to me yesterday. Was in a gunfight, got downed, teammate got the revive off, I ran 3 steps, put a plate in, and got kicked for inactivity,” another player explained. “Yeah unfortunately it’s been an issue forever,” a third player claimed. “Back in WZ1 I’d be in the middle of a gunfight and it’d kick me for inactivity. Haven’t seen it yet on this game but makes sense it’d return just like a lot of other bugs and what not.” Hopefully, we’ll see the bug fixed in the next patch among the other glitches we’ve seen crop up recently.

Warzone player proves Ghost perk isn’t actually working – Dexerto
Warzone player proves Ghost perk isn’t actually working ActivisionWarzone players have long said that the Ghost perk is an absolute crutch in the battle royale title, but now it’s been shown that it’s even more powerful than believed – and perhaps more than intended. Warzone players will mostly be familiar with the fact that, if your team calls in three UAVs all at once, you’ll get an Advanced UAV, which shows the location of every enemy on the map as well as the direction they’re moving in. This is usually an expensive venture, with each UAV costing $4,000, so it’s often a strong monetary commitment when you’re losing money you could spend on armor plates, a loadout drop or even a fallen comrade. It seems now, though, that players have discovered a serious issue that means your investment in an Advanced UAV might not even be worth it, and it’s all because of the Ghost perk not working as intended. Not long ago, it was discovered that players using Ghost, despite being invisible to UAVs, were still visible on Heartbeat Sensors, despite being invisible on them in Modern Warfare multiplayer. Now, it’s become apparent that Ghost users remain invisible to Advanced UAVs, with dohshow12 posting a screenshot to Reddit of his active Advanced UAV showing just six enemies – despite there being 13 other players on the map, not including his team. The Ghost perk description clearly says that users will still be visible on Advanced UAVs but their direction will be hidden, though the screenshot provided shows that this isn’t the case at all. This doesn’t seem to be working as Infinity Ward intended and appears to need a fix, if not a readjustment of the perk’s description in-game. Whether or not the developers address this remains to be seen, but it definitely seems to be aggravating players, who will want some kind of explanation for the perk not working as intended.

Warzone player proves Crossbow is “unusable” after Season 5 nerf – Dexerto
Warzone player proves Crossbow is “unusable” after Season 5 nerf ActivisionWarzone players already bashed developers for nerfing the crossbow, and a new montage substantiates their frustration. Warzone’s Season 5 weapon balances addressed several community concerns. Adding sniper glints to AR scopes helped alleviate players abusing the class from long range, and marksman rifles received long overdue reworks. Decreasing flinch for heavy and light sniper rifles also elevated the class back into Warzone’s meta. However, massive crossbow nerfs divided the Warzone community. The crossbow is a high-risk, high-reward weapon, but players believe the former unfairly outweighs the latter after Season 5’s update. Warzone players label crossbow “useless” after update A Warzone player uploaded a montage of themselves landing several shots with the crossbow but not earning any downs. By the time they reload, they are already getting gunned down by an enemy. Players can no longer one-shot kill enemies after the Season 5 nerfs. Nerf explained Lower Torso Damage Multiplier decreased to 1.5, down from 1.8 – Upper Extremities Damage Multiplier decreased to 1.5, down from 1.8 – Lower Extremities Damage Multiplier decreased to 1.5, down from 1.8 – The montage clip creator asked if the crossbow really needed a nerf. One player responded, “It was perfectly balanced as designed by IW; they should have just left it alone. Now they should just put it back to how it was.” Disappointed, a second user responded, “Raven is really good at removing the fun out of games.” Several players wished the weapon never became popular, as one user claimed, “It went from bad, to usable, to completely unusable. Would have preferred they never buffed it compared to what it has become.” Raven Software has already released several nerfs and buffs for the crossbow, so it will be interesting to see if they decide to backtrack.

Warzone player perfectly recreates iconic Rambo scene at new POI – Dexerto
Warzone player perfectly recreates iconic Rambo scene at new POI Activision / Buzz FeitshansCall of Duty: Warzone’s Season 3 Reloaded brought upon the advent of ‘80s action, and the game’s fans are making the most out of that inspiration. Fittingly, one player decided to fully recreate a scene from . The Warzone Season 3 Reloaded patch is all about 1980s action, with new POIs (points of interest), weapons, and, perhaps most importantly, two brand-new operators: John Rambo and John McClane. While the latter is famous for the franchise, the former is best known for his own self-titled series. And, while Warzone (and, more generally, battle royales) may feel like a youngster’s world — there is definitely some overlap with fans. One fan in particular, Reddit’s Qlkov, decided to pay respects to 1985’s with a picture-perfect ode. The gamer grabbed a Rambo-esque light machine gun, went to the newly added CIA Headquarters POI, and identically recreated one of the movie’s scenes. With the scene from overlaid on his screen, Qlkov’s video shows him walking into the new CIA Headquarters POI with the confidence of a shirtless, tan, bandana-donning action hero. Then, in perfect unison with the film, he uses a big-belt M60 LMG to destroy the entire headquarters — destroying vintage computers, file cabinets, and everything else in his path. For what it’s worth, the M60 debuted in 1957, so it is an excellent, retro choice of LMG to use for the occasion. But, to finish off the scene following Warzone’s mechanics, Qlkov drops his gun to the ground, right as Rambo’s shells of ammunition drop to the floor. While certain things seem to be lacking from this recreation, like CIA officers looking on in fear, applause must definitely be handed out for the effort. It’s also unclear if Qlkov was using the Rambo skin for his operation, but — from his confidence and nonchalance — one has to assume that he was. If other players want to recreate the CIA Headquarters destruction scene from , they simply need to head over to the Military Base area of the map. One of the hangars there has been converted to a secret base for tracking the shirtless savage. Unfortunately for the covert, Rambo knows all too well where that base is now and the secret is most certainly out.

Warzone player outplays Riot Shield trolls with simple trick – Dexerto
Warzone player outplays Riot Shield trolls with simple trick ActivisionFacing off against Riot Shield users in Warzone can be extremely frustrating, but fortunately, a player found a perfect counter. Warzone’s time under the sun comes to an end soon. Warzone 2 releases on November 16, and Activision is yet to reveal the original battle royale’s fate. When Caldera replaced Verdansk in 2021, we never saw Warzone’s original map see the light of day again. These last few weeks could be the last time we see Caldera, Rebirth Island, or Fortune’s Keep, so players should take advantage of everything on hand. That means trying unconventional loadouts, creating memorable moments, or uncovering new secrets. The dying embers of Warzone also present the perfect opportunity to give trolls a taste of their own medicine. One player shared a simple trick to deal with Riot Shield users. How to deal with Riot Shield trolls in Warzone When you come across a player using a Riot Shield in Warzone, you know you are in store for a frustrating gunfight. The overpowered weapon protects you from bullets in the front and even covers your back when equipping another gun. There are plenty of viral videos of Riot Shield players getting crazy kills, but the shoe is finally on the other foot for once. Reddit user BrunoJohn117 shared a video using a vehicle to maneuver around a Riot Shield user and even got back in the car to avoid a stun grenade. One player responded, “nice use of the car to dodge the stun. 1000 IQ.” A second user added, “I would have panic died or driven off into the gas and died 99/100 times; well done.” The player was praised by community members as a third person said, “that was some smooth, innovative stuff! Great use of the car.” Take the opportunity to be inventive and take in all Warzone has to offer while you still can.

Warzone player makes their own clone of the battle royale to avoid hackers – Dexerto
Warzone player makes their own clone of the battle royale to avoid hackers Activision/YouTube: Usman SiddiquiOne Call of Duty fan has gotten so tired of the hackers and cheats plaguing Warzone that they’ve decided to make their own version of the battle royale, complete with Roze skins! Despite the best efforts and ban waves from Activision and Raven Software, hackers are still pretty prevalent in Warzone lobbies. Whether it’s something as simple as a wallhack and aimbot, even cheaters themselves can’t avoid running into someone who has hacks on their side. While many fans have opted to play something else – with many switching to Apex Legends – there are some who have stuck around. Though, for one fan, they’ve used the cheating epidemic as a chance to develop their own version of Warzone, and it’s actually pretty spot on. The creative idea comes from Usman Siddiqui, who created a ‘Warzone clone’ in 48 hours and it’s actually not too far away from the real thing. Showing off the creation on YouTube, Usman has got the Warzone hud, weapons, floor loot, buy stations, and supply boxes down to a tee – even getting the sound effect from when you open a box during a match. To really put it over the top, the bot enemies are dressed up in those pesky Roze skins, so as you attempt to grab a victory, you can get some payback on those annoying outfits. Since showing off his creation to the Warzone community, Usman has gotten plenty of support and praise. “I’d play yours before I’d install Warzone again! LoL,” said one player. “From the looks of it, I’d like to play this game,” added another. While the mod might not be as polished as the real thing, it’s hard not to tip your cap to the CoD for what he’s been able to achieve by himself and with only two days of work. It’ll be interesting to see if it goes any further.

Warzone player is recreating Verdansk in Minecraft and it looks perfect – Dexerto
Warzone player is recreating Verdansk in Minecraft and it looks perfect Activision / MojangA fan of Call of Duty: Warzone has revealed they miss the original BR map Verdansk so much they have started to recreate it in Minecraft. The original Verdansk map will likely hold a special place in the hearts of Warzone players. It was the environment the incredibly popular battle royale launched with, featuring in all modes until it was replaced by Caldera in Warzone Pacific. Based on real-life locations in Ukraine, the map seemed to find the perfect balance between slower, open areas and chaotic fast-paced environments where carnage ruled. When it was usurped by Caldera in December 2021, Activision appeared to rule out it returning in any capacity, but have now hinted that it could return in 2023 in Warzone 2.0. Regardless, some fans are still nostalgic for Verdansk and one has taken their longing for the original Warzone map to new heights. Warzone fan building Verdansk in Minecraft Redditor ‘Miffydsi‘ revealed in a 1 December post that they have begun to recreate the environment in Mojang’s Minecraft, spending hours rendering buildings, terrain, and more in a similar way. They said: “When you miss Verdansk and decide to start creating it in Minecraft. There is ALOT that needs to be changed still. The map is nowhere near being finished but I like how it’s coming out so far.” Attached were multiple images showing recognizable POIs, including Superstore and Stadium. The in-progress build looks impressive, but recreating the large map will take hours of effort and refinement. It’s not the first time a nostalgic CoD fan has rendered a fan-favorite environment in a different title. Back in 2019, one Black Ops II fan recreated the acclaimed multiplayer map Raid in CSGO, an environment that remains playable to this day. Whether the fan is able to finish their Minecraft-Verdansk remains to be seen, but some did wish them luck in their task. We’ll be sure to check back in if or when it gets finished.

Warzone player in “rat spot” gets ultimate karma after abusing map glitch – Dexerto
Warzone player in “rat spot” gets ultimate karma after abusing map glitch ActivisionRat spots are popular hideout sections on a map where a player can camp, unnoticed, and score some easy kills. Warzone Pacific has some of its own spots, and a combatant has been caught using one, only for their actions to come back and bite them. The words “win at all costs” are the mantra for rat spot abusers as they are happy to sit back, pick off some scraps, and set themself up for a chance at winning — especially if the circle is generous. The recently rejuvenated Rebirth Island is home to its own rat infestation, and we’ve already covered a couple of other instances of rattiness in Caldera. Now, a seemingly new spot has surfaced, an almost impossible space to occupy that one Warzone player benefitted from and soon had the tables turned on them. Warzone Caldera’s rat problem A necessity of Caldera is running around and scavenging for useful items that will stand you in good stead en route to an end-game fight in Call of Duty: Warzone. This is why it must have been difficult for CoD Reddit user Cdony92 who was doing just that with 6 kills already in the bag, plenty of cash, and a full armor satchel. They bought and used a UAV, went after the nearest enemy, only to be gunned down in frustrating fashion by a player hiding in a box. Clearly, this didn’t deter Cdony92 as they quickly won their Gulag fight, dropped near to the scene of the conflict, brought down a Precision Airstrike on the box-friendly player, before finally sniffing them out and defeating them in a 1v1. Commenters on the Reddit post were quick to side with the OP with one person saying: “How is sitting in that box all game even fun bruh” and another person saying: “Must be some cheese in there.” There are different ways that players can go about winning a game of Warzone, granted, but perhaps players will reconsider hiding in a box for the duration of a game.

Warzone player highlights “little things” that would massively improve the game – Dexerto
Warzone player highlights “little things” that would massively improve the game ActivisionActivision’s battle royale colossus Warzone has conjured up its fair share of detractors as cheating and glitches continue to plague the game, but a clever assessment of the game’s features has shed light on some essential quality of life improvements. Even with their global domination as the battle royale genre’s go-to title, Activision and its army of developers have faced continuous waves of feedback on Warzone’s path to please fans. While new tactics are being deployed to combat cheaters and small improvements are appearing to actually improve the physical health of players, there is still more work to be done as the game enters a compelling era with Vanguard on the horizon. Warzone player addresses “little things” that need fixing One player went out of their way to address “the little things” that could be fixed, to help players see Warzone in a positive light. YouTuber and Warzone fan BurterSpeed put together a sleek video essay, that broke down Warzone’s features and mechanics to retrofit them with some fantastic quality-of-life suggestions. Remembering “how polished everything felt” with their initial impressions of Warzone, the YouTuber provides a look at features that both casual and seasoned players will certainly have their gripes with. Movement Warzone’s movement started off with a solid foundation, as it had the Modern Warfare engine to thank for its responsive, satisfying traversal. Yet, mantling is a persistent issue that could cost you your life in the heat of battle. While some instances will take you over an object, most of the time the game will place your operator simply on top of them. If mantling was improved to have a more consistent reading of the objects players seek to climb, this could save valuable time when the stakes are raised supremely high. The same frustrations can be applied to ziplines too, which keep players in a rigid, stiff state of movement before ultimately leading to unfair death at the peak of the wire. User-interface / HUD Constantly asking for ammo or plates from your fellow squadmates? Of course you are, it’s the bread and butter of any bleak circle as the battle becomes harder. With a simple U.I fix, these elements could be indicated to your teammates with a visual component to indicate just how many plates or specific ammo types are in reserve. The same could be applied to field upgrades and killstreaks too, to avoid players accidentally picking up / buying unnecessary battle aids. Overpowered mechanics It’s no secret that tactical like Stun Grenades are the absolute bane of Warzone’s combat experience. According to BurterSpeed, it can take just over “five seconds” to do a full 180-degree turn, after a stun is deployed in your vicinity. Rendering any plausible response near impossible, overpowered mechanics like this are one of the more common ways to the gulag. Combine this with incredibly powerful melees, like the Kali Sticks, it is easy to see why players are getting frustrated. The dependency on the Heartbeat Monitor too is another problem that factors in, with players often “spamming” them to keep track of their opponents. This could be “easily fixed”, with a cooldown mechanic that limits the over usage of the item. Mounting has allowed weapons like the MG82 to gain a 50% reduction in its recoil pattern. While this might may sense from a realism point of view, the idea that players can be blasted away within mere seconds with weapons as buffed as the MG82 is still an annoying element in any gunfight. BurterSpeed’s full video has tonnes of incredible ideas to explore.

Warzone player has “worst luck” after trickshot Throwing Knife death – Dexerto
Warzone player has “worst luck” after trickshot Throwing Knife death ActivisionIn a shocking turn of events, one Warzone player shares how unlucky they are, after a wild Throwing Knife takes them out. Since their introduction in 2009’s MW2, Throwing Knives have been a gift to the CoD community, adding an extra layer to strategy and luck. Cross-map Throwing Knives, insane trick shots — you name it, and it’s probably been done in-game. Fourteen years later, the Throwing Knife remains a CoD staple, although its usage heavily increased with the arrival of Warzone due to its high damage output and finishing prowess. Every once in a while, the Throwing Knife will turn back the clock and provide a neat trickshot reminiscent of the golden age of CoD, such as this otherwordly throw that left a Warzone player baffled. Warzone player shares incredible Throwing Knife killcam On a match of Fortune’s Keep, Warzone content creator Kapz was left completely stunned after a miracle Throwing Knife ended their run. In the killcam, he watches his killer shoot a few enemies before falling off the side of a building. While falling, the player chucks up a Throwing Knife, which bounces on the roof of a build before perfectly landing on Kapz. “I literally have the worst luck in Warzone” Kapz captioned the video shared to Twitter/X. Plenty of reactions flooded in, all sharing how they would’ve handled the situation. One player said: “I would send that guy a message and thank them for that. What else can I do after that nice throw??” Another commented: “I would have shut my PC down after that,” while another replied: “I wouldn’t even be mad about that tbh.” Funnily enough, this led to another creator sharing their unfortunate OG Warzone story, as they suffered from an unlucky collateral shot. Unfortunate or not, all the players involved in these clips have the story of a lifetime to share.

Warzone player goes viral on TikTok with “unthinkable” self-oop grenade win – Dexerto
Warzone player goes viral on TikTok with “unthinkable” self-oop grenade win Activision / Wikimedia CommonsA Call of Duty: Warzone player shocked his Rebirth Island teammates and went viral on TikTok with the most ridiculous game-winning play ever. A literal, off-the-backboard, self-alley-oop grenade throw that needs to be seen to be believed. Cooking frag grenades has long been a mechanic in shooting games. The dangerous balls of fire take a certain amount of time to detonate, so you can hold them in your hand in before throwing in order to make sure they explode on impact. If you don’t cook the frag, then it will bounce around until boom time comes. And that’s precisely what TikTok’s ‘lowkeyprimal’ took advantage of in what might be the most absurd and disrespectful game-winner in Warzone history. As the last alive in his four-man squad, primal’s teammates promised to follow if he won the game. So he decided to do so, but in style. Warzone TikTok goes viral for unbelievable grenade game-winner To be completely honest, we had to rewatch this video and check the comments to fully understand what happened. Facing one last enemy, primal runs away after getting shot and losing all armor, picking up a frag grenade in the process. Then, essentially using his low-health self as bait, he throws the grenade against the wall, catches it, and throws it into the building. A moment later, there’s a gasp from the teammates as the grenade explodes and kills the pursuing enemy. He literally bounced the nade off the wall to himself and then dunked it on a poor victim, like an off-the-backboard self-alley-oop. As far as disrespectful Warzone game-winners go, this just might take the cake. It was bad enough when TeeP ran circles around enemies until they quit, but to throw an explosive ball at yourself first? Outlandish. The reactions from primal’s teammates basically summed it up, with a mix of screaming, laughing, and one perfect “what the f**k.”

Warzone player goes viral after “wholesome” boxing match in final circle – Dexerto
Warzone player goes viral after “wholesome” boxing match in final circle ActivisionIt’s not every day you see a boxing match go down in Warzone, but even when it does happen, few have ever resulted with a more wholesome twist than this viral incident did. Warzone is notorious for being a cutthroat experience. Long gone are the days where new players could come in and luck their way to a win, or a group of friends could goof around and accidentally tally a W. At least, that’s what the internet thought until this unsuspecting duo totally changed the game. After making it into the end-game as the last two alive, their final circle showdown had a unique twist that has a huge chunk of the Warzone community rallying around them. Warzone boxing match goes viral after big twist Everything kicked off after LordTexugo made it to the final circle with a Riot Shield. Only one either player remained on the map and the pair squared off on flat ground. The enemy fired a few shots before realizing LT was trying to make peace, and after sealing the deal with a weapon-drop and crouch-spam combo, the two were locked in for a round of fisticuffs. It was a fiery battle, with both competitors getting knocked down and having to self-revive to get back into the action throughout the fight. The mystery opponent on the other-side scored a big knock down on Tex and it seemed like the war would be coming to a swift end until the plot twist of the century came along. Instead of griefing LT, who was now out of plates, the other player dropped two of their own to make the match even once again. That proved to be a fatal mistake though as Lord Texugo rallied from this benevolent gift and landed the game ending punch with little health to spare. It might not have been the conventional end to a Warzone match, but it was all the more epic because of that. The video was initially posted on Reddit but didn’t pick up much steam until it was moved over to TikTok and has collected over 300,000 likes in its first three days on the platform. It’ll be tough to recreate a situation like this, but the next person to do it could also be headed to a world of internet fame if they manage to pull it off.

Warzone player goes Mission Impossible with unbelievable midair plane hijack – Dexerto
Warzone player goes Mission Impossible with unbelievable midair plane hijack Activision / Skydance ProductionsSome Call of Duty: Warzone plays simply need to be seen to be believed. And this one, a mid-air, mid-dogfight plane hijack? It certainly fits that standard, as even the player couldn’t believe they pulled it off. When planes were introduced to Warzone with Pacific, Caldera, we all knew things were going to get spicy. The possibilities felt limitless and, when streamers started hitting seat-swap snipes, the surface began getting scratched. Now, we’ve officially gone deeper. A Warzone streamer by the name of ‘Paranga’ pulled off an action movie stunt that sets a new bar for airborne theatrics in the battle royale. In the clip, Paranga loses a dogfight as their plane gets destroyed by a trailing enemy. So, they jump out and… manage to land on the enemy’s plane, killing them and hijacking it. Warzone player hijacks enemy plane mid-air Simplesmente A PLAY DO ANO! ✈️✈️✈️ Vem LOOT BOX! 👀#NatalExitlag @ExitLagBR pic.twitter.com/15ePzkOJh8— Vinicius “Paranga” Elias (@Parangafps) December 22, 2021 As you see in the clip, Paranga keeps their cool when their plane gets destroyed. Feeling the shots from behind, they quickly eject, popping the parachute and immediately landing on the trailing enemy’s plane. Once on their foe, Paranga downs them out of the cockpit with a pistol and instantly hops into the driver’s seat. Moments later, amid top-volume shrieks of victory, the flying vessel is pulled out of its downward descent and Paranga is free to continue their reign of terror. While some in the comments have compared Paranga’s play to a Battlefield “rendezook,” it’s not exactly the same. A rendezook is when you jump out of an aircraft, shoot down an enemy aircraft, and then pop back into yours before it, or you, crashes to the ground. Paranga’s play is more like a stunt from the Mission Impossible series, something truly obnoxious and ill-advised to attempt. Now, though, we’re left wondering just what else these planes are capable of. If players can hit seat-swap snipes and mid-air hijacks, maybe we’re not so far off from the first-ever rendezook in Warzone.

Warzone player goes Fast & Furious in the most ridiculous motorcycle clip ever – Dexerto
Warzone player goes Fast & Furious in the most ridiculous motorcycle clip ever Activision / Universal PicturesMost Warzone fans will pick a Chopper or Bertha as their ride of choice, but other vehicles like the Dirt Bike can still be a formidable force — as one player put on display in what looked like a sequence pulled from a Fast & Furious movie. When dropping into Verdansk, whether as a solo player or one part of a full squad, incorporating resilient vehicles like the Bertha truck or mobile platforms like the BR’s Choppers is often a crucial part of your strategy. Despite their low usage in Warzone, Dirt Bikes can still be a formidable tool in the right hands, and whether it was through skillful practice or an abundance of luck, one player was able to put their bike to use in series of events that would make Dom Toretto proud. In a clip shared to Reddit by ‘u/Rikuzi,’ the Warzone player can be seen speeding along on their Dirt Bike as an enemy player follows close behind, seated comfortably behind the wheel of a Bertha. As the player’s bike soared over a small ledge, they spun through the air and pulled off an impressive 180, but it was not enough to avoid the massive armored truck hurtling towards them as it coasted over the same ledge. Despite what many would accept as an instant death sentence, the enemy’s truck slid over the player’s head, leaving not even a scratch, and then grabbed the player and their bike and dragged them along the road. A few second later, the truck came to a stop, and so did the Dirt Bike. U/Rikuzi popped up (somehow completely unharmed, despite being hit in the head with a truck, then dragged along the pavement), emptied his clip into the enemy, and watched in disbelief as they fell to the ground, cut down. Naturally, fellow Warzone fans on Reddit were amazed by this series of events. “He definitely uninstalled,” one player joked, with another adding on “and if they had a disc, that f**ker is snapped in half!” “Not sure what’s crazier,” another reply read, “the fact that the grey variant of that weapon’s ADS is slower than most snipers and you still won the fight, or the fact that the truck didn’t f**king kill you!” Whether it was dumb luck or an unintended glitch, this particular Warzone player ended up on the winning end of a hilarious exchange, and if word about their incredible motorcycle moves gets around, they might get a call from Toretto asking for some help with his next heist.

Warzone player gets ultimate revenge vs hacker with ‘anti-cheat’ loadout – Dexerto
Warzone player gets ultimate revenge vs hacker with ‘anti-cheat’ loadout ActivisionA Warzone player used a genius ‘anti-cheat’ loadout to overcome a prolific hacker on a thirty-kill-streak, showing how players can get past those cheating to get ahead. Any player with more than a few Warzone matches under their belt is bound to have encountered a hacker. As Raven and Activision continue to flounder against the cheating problems, players continue to lobby them for a comprehensive and exhaustive anti-cheat system. From wall-hacks to Cronus Zens and ‘soft aimbots’, cheating is all to easy for those wanting to do it. Unfortunately, if a hacker gets you in their sights, your options are limited. One player though, Redditor ‘SyN7W‘, showed a way to overcome hackers, even if it means making major changes to your loadout and play-style. After being killed by an unseen enemy from some distance away – an experience that will be all too familiar to most Warzone players – the Redditor respawned after winning their Gulag. Using a loadout drop, they grabbed a Riot Shield class and headed to the hacker’s location. Once up close and personal with the hacker, the player uses the shield to block the bullets and, when the cheater is reloading, lays into them with Thermites and Stuns. It works a treat, with the Riot Shield preventing the hacker’s unerring shots from dealing damage and an accurate Thermite eliminating the cheater. It’s a wholly satisfying moment to witness. It’s a sign of Warzone’s hacking problems that players are driven to such extreme lengths to try and overcome hackers but, if it eliminates them and prevents them from winning, it’s probably worth it from time to time. One Redditor frustratingly said: “The fact that people now have a cheater class in their loadouts, myself included, speaks volumes about the state of this game.” Hopefully, changes will come from Activision that mean anti-cheat loadouts will soon be unnecessary.

Warzone player gets ultimate revenge after teammate steals loot – Dexerto
Warzone player gets ultimate revenge after teammate steals loot ActivisionHaving your loot stolen away by a random teammate in Warzone can be very frustrating, but one player has revealed their tactic for handling the situation and it’s just perfect. The game has hundreds of Loot Boxes waiting to be opened right across Verdansk and also on Rebirth Island. Opening them will see a number of weapons and handy items come spilling out, some of which will be difference makers for you. However, if you have dropped into this – or any other – battle royale game, you will be all too aware that opening a Loot Box doesn’t always mean you will be the one taking the loot inside. People love to yoink it away right after the goods are revealed. Well, if you’re sick to your back teeth of this happening to you, there’s one clip you need to see. How to stop Warzone players stealing your loot Reddit user just-here-2-par-t revealed their hilarious revenge strategy on December 30, which involves the use of a helicopter. As the clip shows, a teammate comes right behind them and swoops away the Loot Box contents from their Scavenger contract. Moments later, they both jump inside the chopper and the user heads right for a nearby building, only to eject at the final moment. It goes without saying that the fate for his teammate was both hilarious and deserved, as they’re downed in the explosion. “That wasn’t yours to take” is an apt way to describe the player’s feelings about getting mugged off, so that’s what they titled the clip as. So, next time this annoying routine happens to yourself, you know what to do. Many pilots actually use this tactic already as well, crashing their helicopter into buildings to annoy people, so it’s not exactly a high-IQ play but definitely fits the crime. With just a helicopter and an unsuspecting thief of a teammate, you could be waving them off to the Gulag in no time.

Warzone player gets ultimate revenge after being destroyed in the gulag – Dexerto
Warzone player gets ultimate revenge after being destroyed in the gulag Treyarch/ActivisionAfter getting one shot in the gulag, a Warzone player was offered a chance to take revenge on the opponent that eliminated him. It’s fair to say he made use of the opportunity and landed every single bullet. There’s no denying Warzone is an incredibly fun game when you’re landing your shots and picking up kills across the map. However, as any Warzone player will know, the true test and most intense aspect of the game is definitely the gulag. While out on the map, there are multiple options a player can take to reach the end-game, whether that’s avoiding fights or heading straight into the action. In the gulag, only one player out of the two is coming out alive, so when you lose, it’s extremely frustrating. But what if you got offered a second opportunity to seek revenge over the opponent you faced in the gulag? Well, that’s exactly what happened to bloodcorona, and he certainly made it count. Warzone player gets perfect revenge on opponent A thread posted to the CODWarzone subreddit showing a Warzone player getting revenge on an opponent from his gulag has garnered over 1,000 upvotes. After getting absolutely dominated in an akimbo-deagles gulag, it looked like bloodcorona was just going to have to accept the fact that the better player won. However, after getting bought back in by his team just after he lost the 1v1, he spotted his opponent from the gulag floating in the air. Of course, bloodcorona saw this as a golden opportunity that he couldn’t afford to miss and made every single shot count. “This is the guy who killed me in gulag, cracked, dead, revenge!” It’s obvious from the clip that bloodcorona was ecstatic that he managed to take revenge on his gulag opponent. Despite only having a small window of opportunity, he made every shot count and took the player out before he could drop to safety. Next time you lose a gulag, get your team to buy you back as quickly as possible and keep an eye out for your opponent in the air. Although it’s incredibly unlikely, if you manage to pull it off, it’ll certainly be the ultimate revenge.

Warzone player gets trapped in room after using Red Door – Dexerto
Warzone player gets trapped in room after using Red Door ActivisionWarzone Season 5 is still fairly new to the community and new things are getting discovered every day. This season saw a change to the Red Door system in Verdansk and this player picked the wrong door, getting stuck all alone. Red Doors were first introduced to Warzone in Season 4. These doors can be found in random locations and teleport you to a room with rare loot. Season 5 updated this system, and now players enter a door and are taken to a hallway with four more. They then have to listen for the right sound cue before entering the door that will take them to the loot. This player was chasing a kill when they ran through one of the doors just to realize they had been bamboozled. Warzone player gets trapped after using Red Door Players are typically happy when they find a Red Door as it allows them to get access to top-tier loot that can’t be found anywhere else. This Reddit clip posted by ‘BeesusPls’ shows what happens when you try to chase for a kill. This player just wanted to stay on the trail of an opponent but things got tricky when a Red Door got involved. They were teleported just to realize that the enemy they were chasing was no longer in the room. To make matters worse the game glitched out and the player was now trapped in the room — with no way out. None of the doors would open causing this player to be stuck in the room until the gas reached them. However, since this was a game of Buy Back solos it wasn’t the end of the game for this operator. Luckily, for them, they had plenty of money to buy themselves back once the gas was able to kill them. It’s an unfortunate bug but one that players are having a good laugh about.

Warzone player frustrated by PS5 cheaters entering games despite turning crossplay off – Dexerto
Warzone player frustrated by PS5 cheaters entering games despite turning crossplay off ActivisionA Warzone player has shared footage of a team running down opponents and killing them with riot shields while using cheats and playing on PlayStation 5. The problem with cheating in Call of Duty titles like Warzone and Modern Warfare has been well documented by this point. Some cheaters have even found ways to avoid discovery by RICOCHET, Call of Duty’s proprietary anti-cheat software. As the ways hackers deploy their cheats get more sophisticated, RICOCHET is having a hard time keeping up. Generally, PC players get the brunt of the blame for those using unethical methods to win matches. However, a player shared footage on Reddit of a group of players using cheats on PS5. The footage showed the cheaters running at impossible speeds holding riot shields. Then barreling straight into other players, killing them instantly. “How is this even possible?” The OP asked. “Wait we dealt with this today. I was confused because I was full plated.” Another player experiencing the same situation also replied to the thread. Most users were in accordance, the cheats were “more than likely” achieved by using a dev kit for the PS5. One user, with the uncannily apt username Riot_Shielder, gave a detailed breakdown of how cheats can be implemented by console players. According to their explanation, these players first use a tool on their PCs allowing them to save cheats as one of the games perks. This lets them inject perks like speed or one hit kills to the game’s classes. When they boot their console up again, the classes with the uploaded cheats are available for them. Players on consoles also “can’t get shadowbanned”. Apparently allowing them to play with the corrupted class for “as long as they want”. Regardless of the specific method these hackers are using, it seems that even turning off crossplay won’t necessarily stop Warzone players from encountering cheaters.

Warzone player finds unreleased automatic pistol that looks overpowered – Dexerto
Warzone player finds unreleased automatic pistol that looks overpowered Activision / u/ RestlessGoatsA yet-to-be-released pistol called the Sykov has been discovered in Call of Duty: Warzone’s Plunder mode, and while we don’t know if it’s coming in Season 2 or later, the weapon looks very powerful from what we’ve seen so far. [jwplayer bjQdhi3F] Imagine a player’s surprise when they call in a Weapon Drop field upgrade only to receive a brand new weapon that’s not even supposed to be in the game yet. That’s exactly what happened to Reddit user ‘RestlessGoats,’ who was toiling around in Plunder when he suddenly came across the Sykov, a new pistol that’s been previously leaked but not officially announced or released yet. Of course, as is the case with almost all of the guns that come as ground loot or in Weapon Drops, the pistol was a specific Blueprint for the Sykov, one that’s automatic and comes with 12-round mags. Even though the gameplay clip is not that long, you don’t need to watch much to see that the Sykov, at least in the build shown in the video, is quite overpowered. For one, there are no fully automatic pistols in Warzone – the Diamatti is the only one that has a comparable fire rate. Furthermore, if the handgun has an ammunition attachment that offers extended magazines, then a larger clip size could make it even more potent. Read More: Best Warzone landing spots in Season 1 – “Full auto, 27 rounds and maybe akimbo, I can already hear the moans…” one user remarked. It’s true – if the Sykov does have a dual-wield Akimbo attachment, then it could be the next handgun to assert its dominance in Verdansk, following the footsteps of the .357 magnum, Reneti, and Diamatti. The implications of this weapon being added are pretty major considering that players will be able to run it as a secondary without needing Overkill, which opens the door for Ghost to be in their primary loadout. As mentioned above, this is not the first time we’ve heard of the Sykov. During December, data-miners uncovered the pistol in the Modern Warfare game files and leaked images of it along with some gameplay. However, this is the first time we’ve seen this particular blueprint in action, not to mention the previously leaked gameplay was in a custom multiplayer game on Rust, not in a Warzone public match. https://twitter.com/Cheezburgerboys/status/1339166755264950272 And yes, this weapon is coming through the Modern Warfare pipeline, not Black Ops Cold War. It’s not exactly clear how Infinity Ward plan on handling new MW content following the launch of Cold War, so we don’t know when the Sykov will be released. Read More: Best Warzone sniper rifles loadouts – In fact, there was no evidence that new MW guns would be added in Warzone following its integration with BOCW, but the fact that the Sykov’s been found in the battle royale after being leaked in multiplayer means that the trend will continue.

Warzone player finds perfect Rebirth Island successor and James Bond fans will love it – Dexerto
Warzone player finds perfect Rebirth Island successor and James Bond fans will love it A Warzone player has claimed they’ve found a perfect real-life location for another Resurgence map that could replace the popular fast-paced environment Rebirth Island. The Resurgence mode is one of the many ways Warzone players can enjoy the battle royale. Set on Rebirth Island – based on the real-life Alcatraz Island in San Francisco – Resurgence supports up to 64 players and was introduced to Warzone in December 2020. The mode allows for a smaller and more faster-paced experience but some argue the tiny map can get repetitive. Nonetheless, one player claims to have found a perfect location for the next Resurgence map. On December 30, a Warzone player pointed out in a Reddit thread that Hashima Island would make for a great Resurgence mode map. The island, based off the coast of Japan, was abandoned in 1974 and has virtually become a ghost town since. It was also featured in the hit 2012 James Bond movie Skyfall; the setting from which Javier Bardem’s villain hacked MI6. Some players were behind the idea of adding more Resurgence maps: “That’d be dope. I really want them to add more resurgence maps; I love Rebirth, sure, but that’s pretty much all my squad wants,” said one player. “That tiny map gets old. Surely, since it’s so much smaller than the main BR, they could add at least 2-3 more and rotate them.” Others weren’t fond of the proposed map and took into consideration the amount of rooftop campers that it would have: “Ah yes, The Skyfall island. I can imagine the roof campers now.” With the classic Verdansk map being replaced by Caldera as a result of Warzone’s integration with Vanguard, Raven may take the idea of a new Resurgence map into consideration.

Warzone player finds OP wallhacks method that’s completely legal – Dexerto
Warzone player finds OP wallhacks method that’s completely legal ActivisionA Warzone player has found a cunning method to fully utilize free and legal wallhacks to take advantage of helpless opponents in Pacific’s Caldera and Rebirth Island maps. Wallhack was once a term used to denote cheating or glitching in a game that enabled players to illegally see other players through walls. This naturally led to easy kills and a sense of unfairness for the victims of them. Now, the term is far more generalized and can apply to a meta in which special items and abilities grant the same benefits without bans or repercussions. Apex Legends has used this with some of its legends, and Warzone has experienced it in the past when a weird glitch struck the game. Now, an interesting loadout and setup have been shared that grant a lot of the same benefits. Call of Duty: Wallhack Warfare On Warzone’s Reddit page, one played posted: “The combination of Restock Snapshots + Combat Scout + FMJ always seemed really OP to me” User jamcowl proceeded to demonstrate this by showing some clips of their Warzone gameplay using the deadly combination of items. The setup proved to be extremely effective when it came to close-knit games in tight spaces crowded by buildings. The Snapshot Grenade would light up the enemy for a few seconds revealing their position to the player through surfaces. If Cold-Blooded wasn’t equipped, then Combat Scout would ensure the player was being marked for a few seconds, and FMJ bullets provide a great deal of extra Stopping Power to penetrate hard surfaces. Enemy players that were pinged by the Snapshot simply didn’t stand a chance and were pretty much dead before they had a chance to figure out where they were being shot from. The gun being used was the Grau, which not every player will have access to. However, if you do, then this loadout could be something well worth trying out to secure some more dubs in Caldera or Rebirth.

Warzone player eliminated by giant floating head as insane new bug surfaces – Dexerto
Warzone player eliminated by giant floating head as insane new bug surfaces ActivisionWarzone players have been left well and truly baffled after a new bug appears to show a player getting eliminated by a giant floating head, in what can only be described as the strangest glitch we’ve seen in Caldera yet. Across Warzone’s life-span – but more acutely since Caldera dropped back in December of 2021 – bugs have constituted a major issue for players to overcome. The game’s devs have even admitted that it is so “bloated” they don’t actually know what’s causing many of its issues. From the egregious, like the infamous demon gun glitch, to the ridiculous, like playing Warzone with the same graphics as Roblox, players have become all too accustomed to glitches ruining matches. This certainly falls under that category, seeing a player bizarrely eliminated by a floating head – seriously. The clip was posted to Reddit by player ‘Bubuthing‘ on March 4 and showed them being eliminated by an obscured enemy. However, when reviewing the killcam, the player realized they’d actually been eliminated by a giant floating head shooting as if it were a normal character. It took Redditors some time to identify what the bizarre shape actually was, with many likening it to some less than safe-for-work things. The giant pigtails eventually gave it away though, with players successfully identifying it as the head of Polina – the sniper character who featured prominently in Vanguard’s initial marketing. It’s not exactly clear what caused the bug, but many in the comments found it amusing all the same and some even reported they’d seen similar things. It is likely down to major issues with the game rendering a specific Polina skin. It has to go down as the most bizarre bug we’ve seen in Caldera, with many hoping Raven can now get ahead of it (pun intended).

Warzone player discovers secret room on Fortunes Keep map – Dexerto
Warzone player discovers secret room on Fortunes Keep map ActivisionA Warzone player discovered a secret room on Fortunes Keep that awards rare loot. For years Call of Duty developers have included easter eggs in Zombies, and the secrets carried over to Warzone. Fortunes Keep features several tricks, such as zombies in Warzone, hidden loot, and secret rooms. Warzone Season 4 introduced Fortunes Keep, and it didn’t take long for fans to claim it being “better than Rebirth Island.” Months after its introduction into the battle royale, players are still discovering secrets scatter around the tropical island. A player discovered a secret room on Fortunes Keep without even intending to unearth an easter egg. How to access the secret room on Fortunes Keep A Reddit user shared the steps required for finding a secret room on Fortunes Keep. “In the town, near the buy station closest to the graveyard, there’s a two-story building. It overlooks the little fountain/plaza area. If you throw a knife at the dartboard and hit the bullseye, it opens up a secret room.” The player said they were messing around in the early game and happened to stumble across the room. One player responded, “The number of times I’ve run into that door.” As a second user noted, the easter egg is actually a call back from Black Ops 4’s battle royale map; “A cool nod to the blackout map. Same thing in the mine.. throw something at a dart board, and the prison cell opens up (which usually had a box in it).” A third played shared another secret: “That’s awesome you found this on accident. If you enjoy this kind of stuff, you should take two wine bottles to the keep banquet room.” There are undoubtedly more secrets left uncovered for players to discover on Fortunes Keep.

Warzone player discovers perfect way to counter Airport tower campers – Dexerto
Warzone player discovers perfect way to counter Airport tower campers ActivisionA Warzone player has found the perfect way to counter campers in the Verdansk Airport tower, and it might be the best way to bait those annoying players out and get across the runway. [jwplayer L7zZP3SQ] If you’ve played Warzone even once, you’ll know exactly which tower we mean: the one north of Airport that has only one way up, from which players can easily camp, scout out enemies and lay fire upon those trying to rotate to zone. Even with the inclusion of external ziplines to many tall buildings in Verdansk, the tower still doesn’t have one, meaning that once players are up there, it’s incredibly difficult to get them down. Typically, you’ll struggle in a straight gunfight against these players — so what you need to do is bait them out, instead, and capitalize when they’re distracted. As showcased below by NadxCH, a helicopter could be your key to infiltrating the tower — though not how you might think. While many people will have tried to attack head-on while in a helicopter, the plan instantly falls flat if the tower campers have a rocket launcher or explosives of some sort, that will see you and your team come crashing down instantly. Instead, you need to assign a teammate to fly past in the helicopter after landing up top, and strike while the iron is hot. While the designated driver flies the heli in one direction, you’ll need to jump off the top and plan your parachute perfectly to land in the control room while the opponents have their back turned and are distracted. Obviously, this will often be easier said than done. Jumping off the top of the tower and timing everything right to land in the control room is a skill you’ll have to practice over and over again to get right, so you’ll have to be confident you can pull it off first. Secondly, you’ll have to rely on the enemy team being distracted by the helicopter. They likely will be, and will want to take it down while it’s so close, which is why it’s the perfect opportunity to strike. Otherwise, you might find yourself trapped while trying to traverse the map — and there are few worse types of players to die to than those in Airport tower.

Warzone player discovers ingenious way to counter Solos vehicle meta – Dexerto
Warzone player discovers ingenious way to counter Solos vehicle meta ActivisionIn all Call of Duty: Warzone modes, vehicles can become a nightmare. But that nightmare is by far the worst in Solos, which prompted a player to devise a sneaky trick that can help counter trucks and cars. It’s a common sight in Warzone matches, but multiplied in Solos: if you get to the final circle, you find yourself surrounded by vehicles and vehicles. Trying to shoot them down takes up a lot of bullets and time, while trying to rocket them leaves you vulnerable. So one player on Reddit figured out a different tactic that involves some combination of camouflage, espionage, and perfect timing. They say “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em,” so Reddit’s ‘MateLookBehindYou’ decided to get in a vehicle of their own for a final circle filled with trucks and cars. With everyone driving around each other in circles, they then laid a perfect trap. As you can see in the video, MateLookBehindYou has a C4 placed on their already-weak truck. Then, when all of the other vehicles are tussling around one another, Mate hops out, distances themself, and detonates. Within the blink of an eye, the truck explodes and instantly destroys both other vehicles nearby — a Bertha and an SUV. Then it becomes a simple 1v1 against someone who was driving around elsewhere. Of course, this play is a risky one for a number of reasons. For one, if somebody simply shot at Mate’s Bertha, they could have accidentally detonated the C4 and that would have been a sad ending. For another, there’s always the chance that Mate could have been killed as soon as they hopped out of the Bertha — or vehicles may have moved away leaving Mate vulnerable. Still, the play is obviously intriguing. A Bertha explosion seems to deal more damage than most individual rockets or explosives are capable of, meaning that this could be a very effective way to counter other huddling vehicles in a pinch. It’s worth having in the back pocket for sure.

Warzone player devises perfect way to combat rooftop campers – Dexerto
Warzone player devises perfect way to combat rooftop campers Activision / EAOne savvy Call of Duty: Warzone player has taken inspiration from Rainbow Six Siege and Apex Legends’ Pathfinder in devising a concept that would be perfect to tackle campers in Verdansk. Warzone sports a number of metas which can vary from game to game. One match you find yourself dodging vehicles left, right and centre, the next you might find yourself inundated with snipers taking the high ground. It is the latter which one shrewd Redditor has devised a solution for, by taking inspiration from Infinity Ward’s battle royale counterpart, Apex Legends. Despite being set in the futuristic Titanfall universe, Apex Legends has a number of features which would work well in Verdansk — such as how teams drop into the map to avoid team splitting in the early stages. And one Reddit user has taken inspiration from everyone’s favorite MRVN, Pathfinder, when constructing the perfect concept to take down those pesky rooftop campers. Rayledare created the ‘Grappling Hook’ as a buyable item from Buy Stations for $2000, which would allow players to scale buildings within a few seconds, as opposed to having to climb the seemingly endless flights of stairs. As per Rayledare’s post, the Grappling Hook would allow players to attack a building from all angles, as it would also come equipped with an ‘Elevator Tool’ for “fast elevation.” Just like in Rainbow Six Siege, the player would be able to simultaneously use their primary weapon — meaning that if a player takes shots, you won’t be in a compromised position. To balance the utility, they would be deployed as a one-time use item and would create specific sound cues to alert players of the oncoming threat. One user vouched towards the notion of the grapple, as they commented: “As long as the grapple gives fair audio warning and time for the defenders to react, I don’t see how offering the option damages the game for anyone…” In terms of what you can do right now, another player improvised and conjured the perfect solution for wiping out enemies that set up shop on rooftops, by utilizing a Precision Airstrike from beneath their feet.

Warzone player devises most toxic way to troll Roze player for a win – Dexerto
Warzone player devises most toxic way to troll Roze player for a win ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone’s Roze skin got nerfed, but people still have spicy feelings about it. Now, players are delighted by a clip of someone trolling and killing a Roze for the most toxic victory of all time. They say “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em” – but they don’t say how you should act once you’ve joined them. So, one Warzone player has taken that advice, joined them, and then — like some sort of undercover agent — proceeded to beat them in devilish fashion. A redditor by the name of ‘Veggieman21’ seems to have beef (sorry, pun intended) with their Warzone enemies. Wearing a Roze skin themself, Veggie downed another darkly outfitted foe in the final circle for a 1v1 and came up with the cruelest way to finish them off. Veggie essentially gave their enemy a sliver of hope, like any sneaky troll would, before infuriating them and earning some… venomous death comms. But, you know what, spoilers are poor etiquette, so you can just watch the video below. As can be seen from Veggie’s POV, they down the enemy with a FFAR (quick kudos to the lad or lass for being an off-meta crusader). Then they walk up to the self-reviving opponent and set two Claymores at their feet. With zero plates, full confidence, and a heart filled with toxic tendencies, Veggie then watches as the fallen Roze finishes their self-res, gets up, and is blown to smithereens by both Claymores. The next moments are glorious: a furious “you motherf**ker stupid —” death comm followed by a satisfied chuckle from the legume leviathan themself. The Roze skin was nerfed again in Warzone, so it’s starting to lose some of the haters that it once has. And, honestly, it’s not even clear that Veggieman wanted to be that toxic with this player just because they were donning the infamous outfit. What is clear is that Veggie has raised the new bar for trolling players in Warzone. Forget teabagging, forget executions, and forget sprays — it’s Season 4 and we’re all about claymores and chuckles.

Warzone player comes up with perfect idea to nerf melee damage – Dexerto
Warzone player comes up with perfect idea to nerf melee damage ActivisionA genius Warzone player has come up with the perfect idea for nerfing melee damage, without making it completely useless. Melee damage has been a consistent complaint in Warzone. The ability to be downed by an enemy quickly punching you, before you can even lay a clip into them, is one that many players have become frustrated with. The complaints date as far back as June 2020, barely three months after the game released, when players started to complain about how “broken” the mechanic was. A few months later, in April 2021, several streamers called for changes to be made, after almost a year of no changes. Now, over 18 months after release, melee damage remains the same, and players’ distaste for it hasn’t died down at all. While developers Raven clearly don’t want to straight-up nerf meleeing in Warzone and make it obsolete, TheTrueAlCapwn may have come up with the perfect middle-ground, with a reasonable nerf to melee damage. “[I’m] pumping a full clip into a guy and he charges me head-on and kills me,” they explained. “Does anyone think that is fair at all?” His idea is a simple one, but could be the perfect way to reach players’ demands for melee damage changes: “Is it too much to ask that if you are actively being shot (flinch) you get reduced melee damage?” This situation is a fairly common one, especially as soon as you drop in. We all know the pain of pinging pistol shots at an oncoming enemy, and they simply knock you on the head a couple of times to knock you down. With this change, you could reasonably expect to be able to take a couple more hits before going down, which would likely force players into gunfights rather than taking the easy melee route. Whether a change like this ever happens, or if it would even work, remains to be seen.

Warzone player comes up with hilarious solution to controversial Roze skin – Dexerto
Warzone player comes up with hilarious solution to controversial Roze skin ActivisionWarzone’s controversial Roze skin still continues to dominate both casual and competitive lobbies, but one savvy player has come with the perfect way to counter the troublesome skin for good. Roze’s Legendary Rook skin has been a popular pick amongst Warzone players since it was released back in Season 5. Not only is the skin completely black in color, but it also features no characteristics that make it stand out. This makes it the perfect choice for those that wish to remain hidden from prying eyes. Due to the incredibly competitive nature of Warzone, the majority of the game’s player base has gravitated towards Roze to help increase their chances of snagging that all-important win. It’s certainly not hard to see why Roze continues to be such a controversial talking point within the community. However, one Warzone player has now come up with a hilarious way to deal with this frustrating skin for good. Despite receiving a nerf in Season 3, Roze continues to terrorize players across Verdansk. In fact, it seems the visibility adjustments have done little to alleviate the frustrations of spotting this elusive operator. Fortunately, Roze’s dominance across Warzone could soon be a thing of the past if the developers were to implement this comical concept. “The only solution is to give the Roze skin users MORE value for their hard-earned skin by making it reactive,” says PlatsVarg. “The more kills you get the brighter you become and everyone can see how skilled you are!” Reactive weapon blueprints were introduced to Black Ops Cold War and Warzone during the Season Two update. These weapons gradually increase in luminosity whenever the player gets kills, giving the weapon a cool-looking appearance that rewards aggressive play. “As the game progresses you get more rewarded for your skill and aptitude at finding less luminous areas to engage in,” joked PlatsVarg. “By the end, you’re finally visible to everyone else when it really matters. I think this is a big W so Activision DM me.” While the player was clearly joking, it seems that many fans are still frustrated by the clear advantage Roze skin users have. This concept would certainly be welcomed by many Warzone players, but don’t expect to see any glowing green Roze operators anytime soon.

Warzone streamer accuses player of cheating in Gulag, turns out they were just better – Dexerto
Warzone streamer accuses player of cheating in Gulag, turns out they were just better RussDaddy (Twitch)Warzone’s hacking problem continues to cause problems for legitimate players, but the problem has gotten so bad that the number of false accusations are rising. Warzone is certainly no stranger to cheating. In fact, Season 1 games have been flooded with aim-botters, wall hackers, and players that exploit game-breaking glitches to get an unfair advantage. Despite numerous bans and the shutting down of cheat websites, Activision has failed to control the cheating problem that continues to run rampant in Warzone. Since the game’s launch, many Call of Duty streamers have been vocal about Warzone’s lackluster anti-cheat system. Things have gotten so bad that players like NICKMERCS have decided to quit competitive Warzone tournaments for good. However, due to the game’s competitive nature and the sheer amount of cheaters, it can sometimes be tricky to determine whether players are actually hacking. Warzone streamer cheating accusation After all, 100 Thieves’ Tommey recently apologized for falsely accusing a fellow competitor in the $200,000 Twitch Rivals event. Not only did this lead to the player being disqualified from the competition, they also received a lot of backlash from fellow viewers who jumped on the cheating bandwagon. It’s certainly not uncommon to be labeled as a cheater in Warzone, especially when nearly every lobby has players running around with aimbot and wallhacks on. However, now another legitimate player has found themselves being called a cheater on stream. Read More: Does Warzone have an anti-cheat system? – Reddit user, felineprotector uploaded a clip of them beating Warzone Streamer RussDaddy in the Gulag. “Nothing feels better than being called a hacker by a streamer when you’re legit,” says felineprotector. This comes after RussDaddy claimed that they had been cheating after the streamer lost his Gulag match. Felineprotector’s Gulag strategy seems so well-calculated, it’s not surprising the streamer thought he was cheating. “If I have the side without a car, I fake like I’m a bot jumping on the perch then bunnyhop to cut them off from the car,” says the Warzone player. “Either you get them, get hit markers and have an advantage for a push, or you know they are in spawn.” This certainly explains how RussDaddy got beamed so quickly, and why the streamer thought that felineprotector was hacking. However, the real irony of this particular encounter is that the falsely accused player ended up running into a real hacker later in the game. “The best part is we ended up getting killed by the actual hacker he mentions, just blatantly aim-botting.” It certainly seems Warzone’s cheating problem isn’t going anywhere soon, but we’ll see if Activision manages to deal with the problem for good when the new season hits servers later this year.

Warzone player becomes one man anti-cheat after wiping out bug abusers – Dexerto
Warzone player becomes one man anti-cheat after wiping out bug abusers Raven Software/ActivisionA Warzone player has taken the fight against bug abusers into their own hands, wiping out a set of cheaters who were camping below the map on Rebirth Island. Warzone’s Season 3 update is in full swing and players are exploring each of the new POI’s added after the huge Nuke event. Although the major patch added a range of new content to check out, a lot of the old and familiar issues remain in the game. Of course, we’re talking about the countless bugs and exploits that can be found across the two Warzone maps. From a glitch that grants invisibility under the new Stadium to a spot on the Train Station roof that forces players to fall through the map, the devs have certainly still got a lot of issues to iron out. This includes the ability to glitch under the map on Rebirth Island and shoot enemies who cannot fire back. Well, one Warzone player decided it was time to take a stand against the cheaters and deal with the issue head-on. Warzone player takes on cheaters head-on A thread showing a player wiping out a set of cheaters map exploiting on Rebirth Island has garnered over 23,000 upvotes on the CODWarzone subreddit. After noticing a vehicle was parked in a suspicious position on the Rebirth Island map, JuuliusCaesar69 realized immediately what was going on. He wasted no time hopping into the vehicle and glitching himself through the wall. It was at this point that he began searching for the cheaters and it didn’t take him long to find them. With no hesitation, JuuliusCaesar69 killed all three of the exploiters who were sat killing players from under the map. Instead of taking their position and using the exploit for himself, he moved out of the spot immediately and disposed of the vehicle into the sea. If Raven Software is looking for a reliable anti-cheat system, they should consider hiring JuuliusCeasar as a one-man solution. He dealt with the exploiters perfectly and even finished them off in a single mag. It’s fair to say we need more players like this who are willing to resist the temptation to glitch and cheat in Warzone to gain an advantage.

Warzone player baits enemy with perfect proximity chat troll – Dexerto
Warzone player baits enemy with perfect proximity chat troll ActivisionThis Warzone player was left stunned after he was baited by a cleverly-timed proximity chat, leaving him falling to his demise and sent straight back to the lobby. Proximity chat was introduced to Call of Duty with Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, with players able to speak to opponents as they traverse the map, making for some very funny moments especially in the early days when it was first introduced. Now, players don’t quite use it the same way they did when it was still fresh and exciting, but that just makes it even more entertaining when it is used well. That’s exactly what happened here, as a player used the prox chat to absolute perfection to trick an enemy into making a difficult push, and paying the ultimate price for it. Warzone player falls for brilliant proximity chat trick Warzone creator 7th Sleeper saw an opportunity when an opponent flew past him as he sat atop a building in Urzikstan, shouting out “No way my f**king controller dies right now,” once the player floats past to safety. Lo and behold, that player comes straight over and flies up the zipline, thinking he’s got a free kill — but he had another thing coming. Instead, 7th Sleeper waited at the top of the zip and sprayed the player as soon as they reached the top, with the player admitting that “he baited me.” The streamer later admitted that he’s tried that exact proximity chat troll “hundreds of times” but rarely has any success with it, so that’s worth remembering if you try to do it yourself. Nowadays, it’s quite common for players to turn off proximity chat as it can become a bit of a distraction when trying to play. That said, for moments like these, it might be worth considering switching it back on sometimes.
