Warzone lets you put nearly everything on Recon Drones: here’s how Infinity WardYou might overlook Recon Drones in every Warzone lobby, though a brand new experiment will have you thinking again as a ton of surprising combinations have been revealed. [jwplayer Q7ySHZq9] Recon Drones have never been the most sought out piece of equipment in Warzone. While they can be handy if you desperately need some intel on nearby players, they have their limitations. Recon Drones can’t fly very fast and they have a limited range. Not to mention how easily they can be shot out of the sky as well. So while you might pass them up most of the time, they actually have a few remarkable uses. Before they get off the ground, other pieces of equipment can be placed on top. If your teammates are in a pickle and they need some help, but you can’t run out in the open, this is the play for you. Here’s a rundown on every surprising combination that’s possible with Recon Drones in Warzone. Some of the more obvious inclusions that you may have already seen include C4, Claymores, and even Throwing Knives. However, popular gaming mythbusters ‘DefendTheHouse’ ramped things up to a new level with more intricate experiments on November 2. First and foremost, the team revealed that Trophy Systems can actually be placed on Recon Drones. While Trophies are often dropped on top of vehicles, they can come in handy here as well. With this combination, you can stay clear of incoming explosives, even damaging enemies by flying right up close. Next up were Munitions Boxes and Armor Boxes. It turns out, these can both be dropped onto Recon Drones as well. It might seem like a niche tactic, but if your teammates ever need armor plates or extra ammo, you can simply fly one of these overhead to drop off the supplies. Unfortunately, the game limits this interaction to just one box. Meaning you can’t stack multiple on top of one another and still pilot the drone. There’s no telling if this is an intended feature to begin with, though even a single box could come in clutch in the right situation. Infinity Ward is yet to address whether these interactions are intentional. If they are, the Recon Drone could be one of the most underrated pieces of equipment in Warzone today. However, there’s every chance these combos are wiped away with a future update. In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled while traveling across Verdansk. You never know when you might spot a flying Trophy System overhead.

Warzone leaks reveal Zombie Royale, Night map & more new modes – Dexerto
Warzone leaks reveal Zombie Royale, Night map & more new modes ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone will soon be given a huge shakeup as leakers have uncovered plans to release a boat load of new features in the future, including Zombie Royale, a Night map, and more. If there’s one thing CoD players know by now it’s that Infinity Ward are on the ball with new content. Just when things start to slow down for Warzone, another big patch to shake up the meta rolls out with a whole host of changes. Since that major patch dropped on August 24, which included a King Slayer mode, might just be the first domino to fall in a series of game mode additions. Warzone leakers have since revealed a handful of new mode names and descriptions, as well as a first-look at Verdansk after dark. New Modern Warfare and Warzone modes leaked This information was posted online by ModernWarzone, an account that has pushed out its fair share of reliable leaks in recent times with data mines. Possibly the biggest of the mode leaks was Zombies coming to Warzone, which is something Treyarch tried out with Blackout last year. In fact, the walkers are usually only found in Treyarch games, period, so that would be an interesting move. According to the source, the description will be: “Zombie Royale: Be the last team with a human alive to win. Players turn into Zombies on death, but can become human again by consuming fallen player’s hearts.” https://twitter.com/ModernWarzone/status/1298159303342292993 That’s not all, either, as they listed off a further five modes coming to Warzone and Modern Warfare multiplayer. One that may catch the eyes of fans will be a full month of Shipment coming soon, as stated in the list below. The leaks include the following: Warzone leaked game modes Pandemic/Outbreak – Armored Cargo/Truck Wars – Plunder: Fire Sale – Zombie Royale – Modern Warfare leaked game modes Shiptember to Shootmember: All Shoot House. All Shipment. For a whole month – Realism Ground War Reinforce – Leaked night map for Warzone Call of Duty has had some iconic night maps over the years, such as Hanoi from Black Ops 1, Chinatown in Modern Warfare, and many others. Read More: Every Warzone keycode and keypad location – Soon enough, the battle royale map in Warzone will be going dark – according to ModernWarzone. They posted the details alongside a fan-made version of the map on August 25. The leak came right after Season 5 reloaded was announced, and their post said: “Nightfall Solos, duos, trios, and quads have been added to the files with the midseason update of Modern Warfare.” https://twitter.com/ModernWarzone/status/1298158916866437120 There has been no time frame put on the release of any leaked content just yet, although the features found in the game files can’t be far away from releasing. As soon as we hear official word on any of this rolling out in Modern Warfare or Warzone, we’ll be the first to let you know. Until then, sit back and watch as more leaks come in.

Warzone leaks reveal TikTok NPC bundle on the way and no one knows how to feel – Dexerto
Warzone leaks reveal TikTok NPC bundle on the way and no one knows how to feel Activision / TikTok: PinkydollA recent Warzone leak has seemingly revealed a new TikTok NPC bundle on the way to the battle royale, and players are unsure how to feel about it. Call of Duty is constantly receiving new cosmetics with each passing season, whether that be in the form of new licensed operators, or the robust battle pass system. With the game being consistently updated by Activision, there’s no lack of content for players to get their hands on. However, one potential upcoming bundle has left the community a little unsettled. But it seems a new leaked bundle has been making waves on the internet, one that hinges on the recent NPC trend on TikTok. CoD Warzone leaks new Battle Buddy: NPC Pack on the way The newest cosmetic bundle seemingly set to be added in to Call of Duty: Warzone comes straight from the trending page of TikTok Live. If you’re unfamiliar, TikTok has been overtaken by NPCs, all live-streaming and reacting to the various stickers viewers can send. Turns out that these stickers have a real-world money attachment with them, making popular streamers thousands of dollars by simply repeating phrases like “Yes yes yes” and “So good”. Now Call of Duty could very well be hopping onto the craze with the new “Battle Buddy: NPC Pack” bundle. Complete with quotes like “Yeah! Nom! Nom! Nom! Nom! Nom! Nom! Nom!”, “You got shot! Ouchie! Ouchie!” and “Mmm. Ammo. Thank you!” You can be sure CoD players have no clue how to feel about it. Some players have simply expressed their worriedness about the bundle, sharing an image stating “This is not good.” Other users were disappointed with the theme of this Battle Buddy pack, claiming that this one felt far more “cringe” than usual. “Some of the ‘Battle Buddy’ versions are cool but this one is just cringe,” one player stated. However, a few players were incredibly enthusiastic about the bundle, mimicking popular TikTok live NPC streamer Pinkydoll. “Ice cream so good GANG GANG GANG GANG,” they exclaimed. It’s worth noting that these are just leaks, so it’s not yet confirmed to be heading to the live game but it hasn’t stopped players from feeling some type of way.

Warzone leaks reveal possible new playlists and weapons coming soon – Dexerto
Warzone leaks reveal possible new playlists and weapons coming soon Infinity WardCall of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare are about to get some major new content, as leaked by Twitter user ‘ModernWarzone’ following a huge pull from the game’s source files. After weeks of drama surrounding Infinity Ward’s removal and addition of Warzone playlists, we now know just how varied the playlist options will soon become. As for Modern Warfare’s multiplayer, there’s a strong chance that it will join the battle royale by receiving a highly anticipated, community-favorite weapon: the campaign’s infamous cinder block. 🚨 Just a little something pulled from the files today to get us started 🚨 Remember the cinderblock from the campaign, and how fun it was to bash skulls in with it? Well it may be coming to multiplayer and #warzone I know ALOT of people were saying they’d love this addition. pic.twitter.com/R7md135cza — ModernWarzone (@ModernWarzone) April 30, 2020 Since there’s already a finisher that uses the cinder block, this leak suggests that the hefty weapon will finally be getting released as a novelty sidearm in the game—akin to the Secret Santa or Cha-Ching melee weapons from Black Ops 4 and Blackout. (And it looks like a sword will be getting added too!) As for the playlists, that’s where things get really interesting. Leaked Warzone Playlists Duos: One Shot and Stimulus – Solos, Duos, Trios and Quads: Bottom Line – Infinite Gulag – Most Wanted – Run Like Hell – Classic Battle Royale – Mo’ Gulag, Mo’ Problems – Non-Stop – PewPew – Realism – Inflation Redeployment – More #Warzone playlists are coming. • Duos One Shot and Stimulus • Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads “Bottom Line”#CallofDuty #CodWarzone #CallofDutyModernWarfare pic.twitter.com/9r9MAaOSDM — ModernWarzone (@ModernWarzone) April 30, 2020 It’s not clear exactly what all of these playlists mean, but some information is already available thanks to ‘ModernWarzone’s’ detective work. The “Run Like Hell” mode enlists a much faster circle, likely forcing players to require vehicles to stay alive. Conversely, the “Non-Stop” mode engenders a slower, but “constantly closing” circle. Two other additions harken immediately back to Blackout’s heyday: the “Classic BR” mode has no contracts, money or loadouts while “Mo’ Gulag, Mo’ Problems” continuously allows players to hit the Gulag upon death until the final three circles—an evolved version of the nonstop redeployments featured in Blackout’s Alcatraz mode. Proving just how varied IW intends to be with Warzone’s modes, the “Realism” playlist (featuring a minimal HUD) is a stark contrast against the sillier “PewPew,” which will feature high-damage pistols and explosive physics (like some sort of souped-up Gulag fight in broad daylight). Last bit of new playlists for #CallOfDuty #Warzone. • Inflation Redeployment Also lines for extracting contracts and delivering weapons to extraction? pic.twitter.com/jGzkhvLmO4 — ModernWarzone (@ModernWarzone) April 30, 2020 The last playlist leaked is “Inflation Redeployment,” which is an absolute mystery. But, with it comes “lines for extracting contracts and delivering weapons to extraction.” There is no word yet on what these mechanics mean, but this is all a great sign for both Warzone and Modern Warfare. The community may not have been pleading for new gimmicky weapons or playlists, but diversity is the spice of life. There’s no timetable for when these modes will be introduced in the battle royale, and Infinity Ward can always add, remove, or change them at their discretion, so we’ll just have to wait and see.

Warzone leaks reveal new playable areas may be coming soon – Dexerto
Warzone leaks reveal new playable areas may be coming soon Infinity Ward/via trogalicious RedditA leak for Call of Duty: Warzone shows what could be new areas for players to explore that could contain high-tier loot, similar to Vaults in Apex Legends. There’s been a massive easter egg hunt across the Warzone community as people report finding more Red Access Cards, but seemingly without a way to use them with how the battle royale is at the moment. But the April 28 update for Modern Warfare and Warzone brought a new game file into the mix that showed the battle royale’s bunker doors opening, even though they’ve been infamously shut throughout the game. Posted by DougDagnabbit on /r/ModernWarzone, the leak simply shows the bunker doors unlocking its mechanisms to swing open it’s two towering panels. This is a monumental leap forward for the Warzone community, who have been speculating for weeks that there could finally be a way to gain access to the bunkers. Since the game came out, players have been coming across the bunkers absolutely littered throughout Warzone, but without any way of accessing the inside. 🚨 Here’s a video of the bunker door opening animations in #ModernWarfare #Warzone. 🚨#CallOfDutywarzone #CodWarzone #EasterEgg #CallOfDuty pic.twitter.com/yzZGkWzBQH — ModernWarzone (@ModernWarzone) April 29, 2020 There’s been speculation that it could do with the numerous interactable phones and number pads, but that too didn’t yield much of anything. But with the access cards appearing in Warzone since the latest update, players can only assume that Infinity Ward will be opening the gates to new areas that have eluded them for a while. As for what could be in there, evidence suggests that Warzone will be taking a cue from Apex Legends and similar battle royale mechanics, in which players will have access to high tier loot if they can find a key card. What are in Warzone’s bunkers? YouTuber ‘S0ur’ saw that some of these bunkers had abnormally high loot bars scarcely seen in Warzone, if at all. “Most interestingly, the loot bar is at 120%, and every 20% is a tier, so that represents tier six loot,” he explained. “That bar is off the charts. Tier five would have a line at the end.” This could mean that finding the access cards, waiting for the bunkers to open, and collecting the loot would be a high-risk, high-reward strategy for Warzone players. Time will tell if the leak means Warzone players will have bunkers filled with loot to fight over for, so stay tuned to Dexerto for all the latest developments.

Warzone leakers claim Ural Mountains map will bring 250 player lobbies – Dexerto
Warzone leakers claim Ural Mountains map will bring 250 player lobbies ActivisionA handful of Call of Duty Warzone leakers have been floating rumors that the new map, which is supposed to come in April, could also lead to lobbies having 250 players in but there are reasons to be skeptical. Prior to the launch of Warzone, there were many questions about how the battle royale would work. Would it be as realistic as PUBG or a bit more light-hearted like Fortnite? How big would the lobbies be? Well, those questioned were answered shortly after, with 150 players being able to dive into a game on Verdansk. With another update looming large, and seemingly bringing a new map to the table, leakers have been claiming that the lobbies will be expanded way beyond their current limit. Multiple different leakers have reported the claims, with some dropping hints as early as January. Tom Henderson, also known as LongSensation, dropped the information back in January, stating that Raven Software and Treyarch had been testing it out. The Ural Mountains map is supposedly bigger than the current Verdansk map and shouldn’t be as graphically heavy. “The new warzone map is extremely large, so much so that it has 23 locations. There will be more vehicles,”@InfoCoDEsp_ tweeted a few weeks later on March 14, backing up the claims. “There is also talk that it will be played with 250 players.” As Henderson notes, that is to be taken with a grain of salt until it happens though. Plus, just because it’s been tested, doesn’t mean that it’s definitely going to happen. Game devs do similar tests all the time. It could be the case that the lobbies could be expanded for in-game events, like we saw with the Black Ops Cold War reveal, rather than being 250 players in every game. Even then though, it’d be a struggle for the game’s server. Server issues have already plagued the game in 150-player lobbies. They’d get even worse with 100 more players, so, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Warzone leakers claim Rebirth Island could be replaced in Season 2 launch – Dexerto
Warzone leakers claim Rebirth Island could be replaced in Season 2 launch ActivisionWarzone’s bite-sized battle royale map Rebirth Island could be on its way out as prominent Call of Duty insiders have claimed a major shakeup is on the way in Season 2. Outside of the traditional battle royale experience on Verdansk or Caldera, Warzone players have also had access to a smaller, fast-paced variant through Rebirth Island. With a limited lobby size of just 40 players and a considerably smaller layout, those seeking more rapid gunfights and explosive action often flock to the Rebirth playlist. This could all be about to change, however, as “some kind of new Rebirth map” is on the way soon, according to CoD leakers Tom Henderson and TheMW2Ghost. Just 13 months after Rebirth’s arrival in Warzone and the map could soon be replaced, the insiders claimed during a January 27 livestream. “Recently, I was told this map is coming,” TheMW2Ghost said. “It’s a new map and it’s for the Warzone anniversary.” Exact details remain unclear for now. There’s no telling of this map’s scope or its location. While the leakers remained confident in it being an original design, they admitted there’s even a small chance this launch is purely a “new themed version of [Rebirth].” All plans seem to be up in the air, with another reputable CoD leaker TheGhostOfHope adding that devs aren’t even sure if this new map will “replace or rotate with Rebirth Island.” There is a possibility it’s for Warzones anniversary which would be Season 2 reloaded. I’ve personally heard Season 3 but I know that MW2Ghost teased anniversary for a new Resurgence map. https://t.co/01aEz0qJ9z — Hope (@TheGhostOfHope) January 27, 2022 Furthermore, even the launch date still appears to be in question. While Warzone’s anniversary falls on March 10, this could point towards a launch in Season 2 Reloaded. Though other sources have indicated Season 3 is a more likely bet. With the recent delay of Season 2, now set to launch on February 14, Warzone’s anniversary falls in the second chapter of the Pacific era. We’ll just have to wait and see if this potential new map arrives during the celebration. Read More: Warzone 2: Everything we know – Various leaks have already outlined new content and even Caldera map changes on the way in Season 2. If all holds true, it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest seasonal updates yet.

Warzone leaker claims the return of Verdansk has been delayed – Dexerto
Warzone leaker claims the return of Verdansk has been delayed ActivisionThe highly-anticipated return of Verdansk to Warzone has been hit with a delay, according to a prominent CoD leaker. Rather than launching with Black Ops 6, it will allegedly now arrive sometime in the game’s “mid-lifecycle.” The original map for the game, Verdansk, was removed from the Warzone in December 2021 and replaced with Caldera, which was not as well-received by the fanbase. When details about the map’s return surfaced, the Warzone community was thrilled to see it make a comeback. However, they will allegedly now have to wait longer than expected with no new release date set. EXCLUSIVE: Verdansk will be delayed from Season 1 of Black Ops 6 to sometime during mid lifecycle of Black Ops 6. — bob. (@BobNetworkUK) June 27, 2024 Urzikstan will receive gameplay updates/map updates and Ranked Play with Season 1 to compensate for this delay. pic.twitter.com/RqF0TfP7Bu The news was first broken by known Call of Duty leaker, bob, on X, where they claimed: “Verdansk will be delayed from Season 1 of Black Ops 6 to sometime during mid-lifecycle of Black Ops 6.” Our own sister site, CharlieIntel, later corroborated this report, with multiple sources echoing the point. They went on to say that the Urzikstan map will be getting gameplay and map updates, as well as Ranked Play coming in Season 1 to help make up for the delay. With the growing frustration and discontent with the maps currently available in the CoD Battle Royale, fans will have to wait a little longer to get back to the beloved locale. Just a few months ago, Warzone saw the return of Rebirth Island, another popular map from the Black Ops Cold War era of Warzone. However, excitement for that rerelease was quickly soured after hackers and overly-competitive players tarnished the experience for most. Warzone’s original map is nonetheless playable today in the game’s mobile port. Handheld players are still able to wreak havoc across the iconic BR landscape, but for those on console and PC, it seems the wait has been stretched a little longer for the inevitable return.

Warzone leaker reveals Stadium could open up in Season 4 – Dexerto
Warzone leaker reveals Stadium could open up in Season 4 ActivisionA Warzone leaker has revealed that a bunch of major changes could be coming to the game, including the expansion of the Stadium area. As with any battle royale title, or long-standing game in general, Warzone needs to find ways to stay feeling fresh and new for its regular players, especially with how Fortnite completely changed up the BR genre with its constant bi-weekly updates. While Warzone doesn’t do updates and make changes quite so frequently, that doesn’t mean Activision and Infinity Ward don’t have big plans to expand and change up the game, as this leaker suggests. Since the game launched, many players have questioned the point of Stadium since it’s permanently closed and takes up quite a large portion of space. This might be changing soon though, potentially during Season 4, if leaker Geeky Pastimes has got it right this time, as he did initially when he datamined the later-changed Season 4 launch date of June 10. Among other things, Geeky Pastimes says that he has found “something about the interior of the stadium” in the game’s files. Of course, this could mean anything, especially since he’s not entirely sure whether it pertains to Warzone, multiplayer or a cutscene. With Stadium currently not playing a part in the multiplayer portion of Modern Warfare, it seems easier to believe that it has more to do with Warzone, and it’s very possible that fans might finally be able to see inside of it. 6) The new cryo weapon effect sounds disgusting 7)There is something about the interior of the stadium and a train. I’ve no idea if these are multiplayer maps or Warzone locations or something for a cut scene… — Geeky Pastimes (@geekypastimes) June 12, 2020 Geeky Pastimes also says that there’s something to do with a train in the game’s files, and this could make sense as there are currently a set of train tracks forming a circle around the south-west side of the map. A train would be a welcome addition to the map for many players, similar to how Apex Legends added a train in Season 3, and is something fans have actually already requested. As mentioned, this isn’t set in stone: for all we know, Stadium could just get an internal map in multiplayer, or there might be no changes surrounding Stadium at all. We’ll just have to wait and see as the stadium progresses.

Warzone leaker reveals new items and major changes coming soon – Dexerto
Warzone leaker reveals new items and major changes coming soon ActivisionA series of new Warzone leaks reveal a plethora of major changes coming to Verdansk soon — including a potential new gamemode and a new way at peeking the circle! While Warzone may have revolutionized the battle royale meta when it was introduced back in March 2020, there has been very little offered to players to change the pace since. Aside from introducing new Contracts, swapping out some weapons and adding dedicated duos/quads modes, the game itself is almost identical to what was on offer over three months ago. But that could all change, if Geeky Pastimes’ findings come to fruition. The Warzone data miner posted a series of leaks which imply that a plethora of new items are coming to Verdansk We already understand that a new “spotter scope” is due to be added, and that a big in-game event is on the horizon (which could be linked to the changes coming to the Stadium POI). New Warzone gamemode? Yet it appears that Infinity Ward has plenty more up their sleeve, as even more items and changes are in the pipeline, per Geeky Pastimes’ leak. https://twitter.com/geekypastimes/status/1271514300570574849 Recon Drones will prove a lot more useful than just obtaining intel, as they will now have the added functionality of being able to hack nearby items. Presumably this will be opponents’ equipment, and if so, this will be a game-changer in combating rooftop campers with claymores dotted all over entrances. The leaker also implies that ‘Prop Hunt’ could be making a triumphant return to the franchise, and will be added to Verdansk in some capacity — a popular gamemode that was first introduced on Black Ops 3. Peeking the circle location in Warzone? And to top things off, there could be an additional item coming to Buy Stations which will permit players a peek at the next circle/endgame circle location. Although the dataminer struggled to interpret the exact way in which this would work. https://twitter.com/geekypastimes/status/1271514302848077825 Should this hold substance, though, this will render Recon Contracts also useless (unless the price point of the circle peek is ridiculously high). Of course, as with all leaks, these findings must be taken with a pinch of salt… Infinity Ward may decide to pull the plug on any of these potential changes.

Warzone leaker reveals Battlefield vehicles & gameplay mechanics coming in Vanguard – Dexerto
Warzone leaker reveals Battlefield vehicles & gameplay mechanics coming in Vanguard ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone fans have been enjoying a wide array of leaks for CoD 2021’s Vanguard integration and new details should only increase the hype. According to Tom Henderson, two key Battlefield-esque elements are coming to Warzone. It’s undeniable that Warzone has lost some of the hype that it exponentially grew since releasing in May 2020. That regression can primarily be attributed to frustrations with minimal changes to the map and gameplay mechanics, alongside annoyance at hackers. The latter has already begun to improve, with news of a developing anti-cheat and stricter ban waves. As for the former, new leaks by reputable insider Tom Henderson bring details that FPS fans should most certainly be intrigued by. Battlefield has long been a beloved shooter because of its realism and mechanical innovation. Now it appears that CoD is taking notice, as Henderson reveals two upcoming features: planes and destructible environments. Planes coming to WW2 Warzone with Vanguard? We’re NOT getting WW2 version of Verdansk. The new map will be about a third bigger than Verdansk to cater to new vehicle gameplay mechanics (mainly planes) and possibly more players. — Tom Henderson (@_Tom_Henderson_) August 13, 2021 Not only does Henderson confirm earlier suspicions that the Vanguard map will be bigger (by about 33%), but he adds a key reason why players will need more space: planes. At the moment, the BR’s players can only get airborne by parachuting around the map or using helicopters. But planes are an entirely different beast and provide unique opportunities for gameplay that Battlefield players have long lorded over CoD fans. Vanguard’s Warzone map primed for destruction In addition to Wooden Doors that can be destroyed with bullets/grenades, there’s also Wooden Floorboards/Hatches that you can shoot through. One example I saw was someone shooting the floorboards to go from the 1st to the ground floor quickly. Features like this will be in WZ. — Tom Henderson (@_Tom_Henderson_) August 13, 2021 Possibly inspired by Battlefield or Rainbow Six Siege, Henderson also confirmed that the WW2 Warzone map will feature of destructible environment options. And he gave a very specific example: destroying the floorboards beneath you to drop to a lower floor. Both of these features should be very intriguing to Warzone and Battlefield fans alike. They’ve also each had previous mentions, as Henderson formerly suggested both could be making their way to Warzone back in June. With Vanguard’s reveal quickly approaching, it seems that the leaks have gotten more specific and… more Battlefield-inspired.

Warzone leaker claims private match feature coming soon – Dexerto
Warzone leaker claims private match feature coming soon Infinity WardFresh information from prominent Modern Warfare leaker ‘ModernWarzone’ is indicative that a private match feature will soon be coming to Call of Duty: Warzone, as the battle royale approaches half a year old. Warzone’s large variety of game modes, within its battle royale boundaries, has been widely praised since the game’s release. From Mini Royale to Plunder to Juggernaut Royale, fans have experienced a breadth of content to delve into. However, fans have not yet been treated to a private match feature in Warzone. Private match options have long been a part of general multiplayer in Call of Duty, allowing players to explore new maps and weapons prior to heading into an online, competitive setting. Data-mined files from March, when Warzone originally released, were indicative that a private match feature would come at one point. However, the trail has since gone cold and there have been few, if any, mentions of the sought-after option. That looks set to change, though, with prominent CoD leaker ModernWarzone claiming that it is “coming soon”. They have, in the past, correctly leaked and predicted multiple events relating to Warzone and Modern Warfare. “Private matches will be available in Warzone SOON,” they tweeted on August 9, before clarifying: “Need to go back through the files from forever ago that had to do with custom Warzone games. Or they could just be the files for how Infinity Ward makes their special playlists, like Mini Royale. Can’t remember, it’s been a long time.” ? Private matches will be available in #Warzone SOON ?#CallOfDuty #ModernWarfare #BlackOps #BlackOpsColdWar #LiveFromWarzone pic.twitter.com/QUdawUXfcx — ModernWarzone (@ModernWarzone) August 9, 2020 Need to go back through the files from foreverrrr ago that had to do with custom Warzone games. Or they could just be the files for how infinity ward makes their special playlists, like Mini Royale. Can’t remember, it’s been a long time. Will update you guys when I can. — ModernWarzone (@ModernWarzone) August 9, 2020 When are private matches coming to Warzone? While the leaker did not delve into specifics regarding the date of the feature’s arrival, many took “soon” to mean the next few significant updates the game receives. Infinity Ward have already confirmed that a weapon tuning update will come in Season 5, so perhaps this update will also feature the implementation of private matches in Warzone. Private matches would enable players to drop into new or altered POIs and explore them, without the threat of enemies. Competitive players could also practice strategies and drops, to try and maximize their performance when it comes to tournaments. Despite all indicators pointing the way of private matches, they remain unconfirmed until we hear from Infinity Ward or Activision.

Warzone leaker claims future SBMM will include “Bot Pools” with AI – Dexerto
Warzone leaker claims future SBMM will include “Bot Pools” with AI ActivisionCall of Duty’s SBMM remains a hot topic, with Warzone amplifying concerns. Now, a leaker is claiming that lobbies could get even more confusing in the future — with “Bot Pools” pitting bad players against AI. You’ve heard of PvP (player versus player) and PvE (player versus environment, aka AI-controlled enemies). But, if new rumors are to be believed, the two systems’ child, PvPvE, may soon be coming to Call of Duty. In the past, Warzone’s SBMM (skill-based matchmaking) was the subject of controversy over pay-to-win matchmaking and streamer whitelist concerns. People are constantly wondering how the game decides the skill of your lobby and new leaks will only add to that mystery. Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone insider ‘RalphsValve’ revealed that AI may eventually factor into SBMM in a long thread about future CoD plans. They described how these “Bot Pools” would only be for certain players and could help combat smurfing. Warzone SBMM could feature player vs AI lobbies in future SBMM: With the maintenance of the SBMM code, there are apparently plans to introduce Bot Pools (PvPvE), on the condition that a players stats are eligible to enter these lobbies. With the overhaul in AI, they’ll be able track and equal a players’ level of skill throughout a…— Ralph (@RalphsValve) November 2, 2021 As Ralph explains, “there are apparently plans to introduce Bot Pools (PvPvE)” into Call of Duty in the future. It’s unclear if this is meant for just Warzone, just MW2 2022, or some combination of them all — but it would be an interesting first in Call of Duty. Elaborating, the Bot Pools would only allow certain players (with ‘eligible stats’) into them, and one has to wonder if it would only be those with very low K/Ds. If so, that would protect lower-level players from getting smacked around, thereby nurturing a comfier environment to practice in. AI bot lobbies to counter reverse boosters or smurfs? And, on the topic of protecting low-level players, Ralph added that the AI would suit that purpose. Using the bots, Activision could theoretically figure out what human players’ true skill levels were — allowing them to ‘counter smurfs.’ This would also seemingly make it harder for people who reverse boosted to stick around in easy lobbies for too long. Of course, these leaks are entirely speculative and cannot be confirmed. But some of Ralph’s other rumors seem to have been corroborated by different sources, suggesting some legitimacy.

Warzone leaker claims decision to bring back Verdansk was because of Fortnite OG’s success – Dexerto
Warzone leaker claims decision to bring back Verdansk was because of Fortnite OG’s success ActivisionFollowing leaks that Verdansk’s expected return to Warzone has been delayed, new information has surfaced explaining why the decision to bring back Verdansk was made in the first place — and it’s all thanks to Fortnite. Verdansk was Warzone’s first-ever map, with it still being a fan favorite for many nostalgic battle royale players. First appearing in March 2020, the map was replaced in December 2021 by Caldera. Since then, it has not featured in the main game, though Verdansk is playable in Warzone Mobile. A report from Insider Gaming has now claimed that Verdansk was not originally intended to return to Warzone, as shared with them by an anonymous source. However, the immense success of Fortnite OG drove Activision to pursue a similar route, bringing back its own original map. The report details that this change of plans was enacted in late 2023, shortly after Fortnite OG launched to record-breaking numbers. Going back to the battle royale’s first map worked wonders for Fortnite, so it’s only natural that Activision would want to replicate that success with Warzone. It’s no secret that there have been long-term calls from Warzone players who want to see Verdansk and its fast-paced movement come back. For many Warzone veterans, the game’s original map is where their adventure first began, and a return would give them the chance to relive that. There were even calls from the community for Call of Duty to copy Fortnite OG in November 2023, with Activision looking set to deliver on that request. However, not everyone agreed at the time, as some Warzone players felt it was too soon to return to Verdansk, preferring another new map instead. Though Verdansk is likely to return in the future, it isn’t believed to be the only map of the upcoming Black Ops 6 era. A new Warzone map – codenamed Avalon – is also in development and is expected to be released sometime in 2025.

Warzone leaker claims 8 new vehicles are coming soon – Dexerto
Warzone leaker claims 8 new vehicles are coming soon ActivisionA Warzone leaker has claimed to reveal a bunch of new vehicles that should be coming to the battle royale in the future, including a police car like H1Z1 used to have. Given the size of the maps that battle royales have, it’s pretty common to see developers start adding vehicles to help with mobility. The vehicles have become a staple of Warzone as they’re not just used for mobility, they’re pretty good weapons in themselves too – even if the Big Bertha truck does annoy players who stick primarily to solo matches. Despite the integration of Black Ops Cold War, the vehicles are still the same as the ones that launched with Modern Warfare. However, that could change if a new leak is to be believed. Warzone new vehicles leak It comes from reliable leaker ZestyLeaks, who has been dropping some information about the potential changes to Verdansk, as well as some weapons that we might see in the future too. Read More: How to unlock ZRG Sniper Rifle in Warzone – According to the leaker, there are eight new vehicles in the works for Warzone, including Police Car, a van, and a Fast Attack Vehicle with a mounted LMG. Additionally, there are vehicles listed with a codename, like Big Bird, that seemingly refers to a new helicopter rather than a plane. The ‘Big Bird’ callsign is used in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for a transporter helicopter that’s similar to one found in the middle of the map Crash. https://twitter.com/ZestyCODLeaks/status/1379638100700237826 https://twitter.com/ZestyCODLeaks/status/1380349841444724738 The codename ‘Medical Transport’ would seemingly just be an ambulance too, with the leaker noting that was originally cut from the crop of Warzone vehicles. ZestyLeaks does not say outright as to when these vehicles will arrive, but if Verdansk is going to undergo a massive change like leaks suggest, Season 3 could mark the start of the shake-up. As reliable as the leaker has been, it’s worth taking things with a pinch of salt until you’re joyriding around the map in one and escaping enemy fire. Raven Software could scrap one or two following testing.

Warzone leak suggests new map could include sandstorm feature – Dexerto
Warzone leak suggests new map could include sandstorm feature Infinity WardA leak for Call of Duty Warzone shows how the battle royale could potentially change as rumors of a new map continue to swirl with Season 4 looming. While prominent leaker TheGamingRevolution debunked theories that a new map was coming to Warzone, a leak for a large area surrounded by a sandstorm is keeping fans on their toes. A whole map change seems out of the cards, for now, but we do know that Infinity Ward are planning to implement a “whole other part of Verdansk [that players] haven’t seen yet.” That makes a new leak via ‘ModernWarzone,’ discovered by a mod in their Discord, all the more intriguing for the impact that these changes could have on the 150-player mode. The images revealed a “stagnant sandstorm” surrounding what could be Urzikstan, the name of what could be the next expansion of the Warzone battlefield. An update like this would change up the deadly out-of-bounds effect surrounding the game’s playable parameters. A mod in our discord made me aware that Urzikstan seems to have a stagnant sand storm surrounding it. While we believe this new map won’t be coming to #warzone soon, it is still a possibility that the new “circle” will be a sandstorm instead of “gas.” Looks badass.#CallOfDuty pic.twitter.com/D4hcbDtg0w — ModernWarzone (@ModernWarzone) May 4, 2020 ModernWarzone doesn’t expect the new map changes, if any, to be coming soon, but a change to the game’s design element could have more effects to the game than a simple visual update. Back with Battlefield V Firestorm, the edge of the maps resembled a large and continuously spreading wall of fire to replace what was the traditional ‘gas’ seen throughout the genre. Taking another approach to calamities closing in on a map, a sandstorm update in Warzone could also affect how the zone affects players. Sandstorms are notorious for completely obscuring a person’s visibility. The large plumes of sand in the leaks could possibly carry a similar consequence for players along with slowly chipping away at their health. These takes don’t confirm an upcoming map change for Warzone since it could also be a sign of a dynamic mode unlike any seen before, since IW is already planning to introduce new playlists in the future. Something like a sandstorm to mix up the Warzone formula could definitely be an interesting prospect to renew interest in the battle royale.

Warzone Season 5 leak reveals new Tec-9 will be in CoD for first time ever – Dexerto
Warzone Season 5 leak reveals new Tec-9 will be in CoD for first time ever Activision / ValveWarzone Season 5 is just around the corner and a new season means there will be plenty of new content, and a leak has revealed the newest weapon and operator set to land in Verdansk. As the end of Season Four is quickly approaching, more and more things are beginning to leak out about Warzone Season Five. With the current season, the game saw plenty of new additions, such as Red Doors, new weapons, operators, game modes, and more. Season Five is, of course, likely to be no different. One of the first big leaks comes in the form of Warzone a pistol that has been used in many other games in its history, the Tec-9. Tec-9 leaked for Warzone Season 5 After reported key art for Season 5 hit the internet, showing a new female character sat front and center, players quickly started deciphering the image for additional clues. Players noticed the operator was holding a weapon resembling the Tec-9, seemingly hinting that it’ll be added in the new season. If the machine pistol is introduced into Warzone it would be the first time that the pistol has made its way into the Call of Duty franchise. While it hasn’t featured heavily in Call of Duty before, the Tec-9 is one of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’s most famous and controversial side arms of all time. Some members of the Warzone community aren’t overly thrilled with the fact that a powerful new pistol looks to be coming to the battle royale, especially if there is an akimbo attachment. “Akimbo Tec-9?! F**k that,” said one fan. “CoD adding akimbo Tec-9’s on top of all the hackers, they are trying to get people to quit Warzone for good,” added another. COD adding akimbo tec-9’s on top of all the hacker problems they are trying to get people to quit Warzone for good — B.Canuto (@BCanuto__02) August 2, 2021 Plenty of Warzone players have chosen to dip out on the battle royale given the hacking epidemic. However, some have argued that with the new season players could come back to play the new content. In other gaming titles the Tec-9 has been classified as both a SMG and pistol but at the moment it is unknown what it will be in CoD. It remains to be seen how Season Five will shake out, and if this will be the deadly new weapon that everyone demands a nerf for.

Warzone leak reveals planes potentially coming in new mode ‘Payload’ – Dexerto
Warzone leak reveals planes potentially coming in new mode ‘Payload’ ActivisionAn interesting new leak for Warzone has hinted at planes playing a role in the Season 4 Reloaded update and new Payload mode, and there’s even a new setting for them. Just like other battle royales, Warzone has gone the way of adding vehicles to help players navigate around the map quickly and without too many issues. Over time, more vehicles have been added as well – with motorbikes coming in the main Season 4 update – and others being constantly mentioned in rumors. With the Season 4 reloaded update upon us, it seems as if a new vehicle – planes – could play a role in the new 20v20 Payload mode, especially as players have spotted a new setting. Planes have been mooted to come to Warzone when CoD 2021: Vanguard releases later this year, sparking rumors of players being able to dogfight while flying over the supposed new Pacific-themed map. Well, it could happen sooner than that after Call of Duty leaker ZestyLeaks noted that planes are mentioned in the current game files for the new Payload mode. “In a script file for Payload, the new 20v20 game mode coming with S4R, I found some interesting file names & script code,” the leaker tweeted, noting that planes spawn for both teams in the mode. Though, there have been suggestions of those planes being controlled by A.I. https://twitter.com/ZestyCODLeaks/status/1414699137463820288 As previously noted, whats got players interested is the fact there is an ‘invert vertical look’ setting now in Warzone that has an ‘airplanes only’ function. According to players, this setting was only added in Season 4, and thus could lay the foundations for planes to be tested in-game. Though, that’s only one theory. As we’ve seen before with Warzone, some things that are solely meant for dev testing slip through the cracks. That could be the case here, with planes potentially being added to the files with the intent of being carried over for Vanguard. Though, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Warzone leak reveals full auto attachment coming for the FAL – Dexerto
Warzone leak reveals full auto attachment coming for the FAL Infinity WardCall of Duty leakers have revealed that the FAL could soon be getting an attachment to make the weapon fully automatic in Modern Warfare and Warzone. [jwplayer mCpsAxNx]The FAL has recently stood out as one of the top guns in Warzone, following the latest weapon changes, which saw nerfs to the likes of the Grau, Mp5, and more. This semi-automatic weapon can be quite difficult to master, as it requires players to focus on maintaining a high fire rate as well as keeping steady aim, however, that may be changing. New leaks reveal that the classic Call of Duty gun could be receiving a buff, in the form of a new attachment that would make it fully automatic. As the weapon is already known for ripping through armor and dishing out considerable damage in Warzone, this buff could push the weapon to the very top tier in Warzone. The leaks were shared by ModernWarzone, who highlighted that a FAL full auto attachment would be coming soon, after sharing their thoughts on the best weapons in Warzone. Top dawgs in #Warzone • Bruen • FAL (There’s a full auto coming out) • MP5 • Kilo • Still the Grau 🥴Honorable mentions: • M4 • MP7 • CR-57 AMAX • PKM #CallOfDuty #ModernWarfare #Warzone #COD pic.twitter.com/uHB0G35Eya— ModernWarzone (@ModernWarzone) July 11, 2020 ModernWarzone also shared an early look at this new attachment, which would soon be available for the gun, and revealed that it was titled the “Full-Auto Conversion.” While the FAL is now expected to receive a full-auto upgrade, it is likely that the weapon will have a slower fire rate than some of the other weapons in its class, to help balance these expected changes. As of now, it is unknown whether this new feature will be unlocked through weapon rank progression or if Infinity Ward has plans for it to be earned through some sort of challenges instead. It is also unclear when we can expect this new attachment to arrive on in Modern Warfare and Warzone, as it’s yet to be officially confirmed by the developers. As with all leaks, we’ll simply have to wait on confirmation.

Warzone leak reveals another Attack on Titan skin and players are loving it – Dexerto
Warzone leak reveals another Attack on Titan skin and players are loving it Activision / MAPPAAnother Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard Attack on Titan bundle has leaked to the community, revealing an Armored Titan lookalike skin and fans are losing their minds. CoD has been known for its crossovers which bring franchise stars like Scream, Rambo, Judge Dredd, and more characters to the popular FPS series. On January 20, Call of Duty fans received their first Attack on Titan bundle, which featured Levi Ackerman, the Captain of the Survey Corps. However, that may not be the only installment of the CoD x AoT crossover. A new leak is taking the community by storm as it appears players will be able to get their hands on another anime bundle very soon. Warzone leak shows Armored Titan AoT skin crossover https://twitter.com/Hydra9114/status/1481472317654016001 In a Tweet from ‘Hydra9114’ who has leaked CoD information in the past, they showcased another AoT skin coming to the game. In the short clip, we can see that there is an AoT looking monster holding a Warzone weapon. Luckily, there was another Twitter user ‘Nanikos’ that pieced the video together to give everyone a full look at the skin. https://twitter.com/_Nanikos_/status/1484682517404078080 After seeing this, some fans thought it looked very similar to Reiner’s Armored Titan, while others were hyped to see another crossover. “It can not be! this really is real.” Another person added, “It’s beautiful! (heart eyes emoji)” Fans are excited for another skin from the popular show as many expressed their disappointment with the Levi skin. The community is hopeful that this bundle will look more accurate to the anime theme. At the time of writing, there is no way to confirm when this or coming. However, fans can expect to see it at some point during Season 2, but that has been delayed.

Warzone leak reveals Ghostface & Donnie Darko skins in All Hallows Eve Halloween event – Dexerto
Warzone leak reveals Ghostface & Donnie Darko skins in All Hallows Eve Halloween event Activision, Dimension FilmsWarzone players have braved the terror of Verdansk’s Halloween shenanigans before and the spooky season is coming back around with fresh leaks revealing Raven’s plans for October. The Haunting of Verdansk came to Warzone last October and transformed the battle royale into a zombie-infested wasteland. While the usual enemies were also present, the dead kept coming back as defeated players could return with supernatural abilities. Claiming sweet victory was sweeter than ever if players could survive the onslaught. To add to the shocking nature of it all, limited edition bundles for cinematic horror icons like Leatherface and Billy The Puppet were made available. Bringing their own flavor of brutality to Warzone, their inclusion also changed specific areas of the map with recreations of familiar places. Now everyone has had their first taste of terror, it seems like Raven Software is getting ready to scare us once more. New Halloween operators leaked Fans of the late Wes Craven’s seminal Scream franchise could be in for a real treat. Found within Warzone’s files, it seems that Ghostface might just be terrorizing players this Halloween. Adopted by several characters as a serial killing mantle, the Ghostface design was made iconic by the much-beloved franchise. The design has become a Halloween costume staple. After weeks of speculation, this very skin was confirmed in an October 6 leak. Not only that, a recent glitch in-game even gave players their first look at the operator and the designers have certainly captured the spooky aesthetic. https://twitter.com/charlieINTEL/status/1445709367563546634 Another horror icon also appears to be joining Ghostface too. Recent leaks suggested that Donnie Darko is in line for the next Warzone crossover. The same leaker once again verified these claims, revealing a video datamined from the Season 6 update on October 6. On the lesser side of horror, Black Ops franchise alumni Mason is listed below Ghostface too. Having made appearances in Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode and CoD: Mobile, it makes sense he would eventually become part of Warzone. Season 5 of Warzone is underway now, bringing new weapons and perks to the battle. Naturally, some controversy has followed suit. That’s just the way of Warzone.

Warzone leak hints at possible Vanguard map reveal date – Dexerto
Warzone leak hints at possible Vanguard map reveal date ActivisionFor months we’ve heard the rumors that the next Call of Duty in the franchise will be Vanguard. It has also been reported that the game will be revealed through Warzone in a live event. Call of Duty: Vanguard is set to release in 2021 as Gamescom recently announced that Activision will be taking part in this year’s event. Last year the world got to see the Call of Duty: Cold War reveal trailer the day before Gamescom started and then got a world premiere new look at the game during the event. Gamescom 2021 is scheduled to begin August 25, and with Activision confirmed to be there the stars are aligning for a Vanguard reveal. August reveal would line up with Activision’s past Last August, Call of Duty revealed Black Ops Cold War through a Warzone in-game event where players had to complete tasks before unlocking the reveal while playing the game. Earlier this year it was reported by popular leaker Tom Henderson that Call of Duty will be revealing the next installment of the franchise through another Warzone event. Call of Duty 2021 will be revealed “”mid year”” and is also going to be revealed via Warzone. We’re a while away from a reveal yet, best guess is probably August to coincide with the Black Ops Cold War reveal. — Tom Henderson (@_Tom_Henderson_) February 25, 2021 Although nothing has been confirmed by Activision, data miners have been digging through the files to find as much information as possible. ZestyCODLeaks reported in April that a “Major Event” is coming to Warzone and that there will be a cutscene following the event. https://twitter.com/ZestyCODLeaks/status/1386760520754098176 The leak also says that the Cold War reveal was listed as “x1_fin” in the files and this new event is listed as “x2” which fans are hopeful that it means there will be a reveal. More Vanguard details emerging before reveal Vanguard is also reportedly set to bring a new World War II-themed Warzone map to the community. This is rumored to include planes, tanks, and boats. A new controller setting was added to the game at the start of Season 4 and screenshots show players can now select “Airplanes Only” for invert vertical look. Activision has remained silent on their side of things, but did say in a conference call that the next CoD is, “designed to integrate with and enhance the existing COD ecosystem.” So fans could expect to see a change to Warzone in the near future.

Warzone leak gives more details about new Season 3 weapons – Dexerto
Warzone leak gives more details about new Season 3 weapons ActivisionA recent leak has detailed three new weapons that might be coming to Warzone and Black Ops Cold War in the near future, more than likely during Season 3, including the previously leaked ballistic knife and two other weapons. Season 3 of Black Ops Cold War & Warzone is set to start on April 22, and while there have been a plethora of leaks surrounding the content coming, nothing concrete has been confirmed by Treyarch, Raven, or anyone working on the new season. Despite the lack of confirmation, dataminers have been leaking anything they can find relating to the seasons. Now, we may know some more details about the weapons coming during the S3 update, or at least more than what we knew previously. https://twitter.com/ZestyCODLeaks/status/1380644733685362688?s=20 According to reliable Call of Duty leaker ZestyCODLeaks on Twitter, three new weapon files were added to Warzone during the game’s midseason update. The leaker then says that in their current state, these files are what gets added to the game shortly before their final release, lending credence to the fact that they’ll be coming as a part of Season 3. Two of the new weapons added are labeled “ar_t9fastburst” and “sm_t9spray”. Of course, these two codenames won’t be the actual names of the weapons added but they might give us some insight as to what they’ll do or how they’ll behave. The first seems to be a burst assault rifle with that has a “fast” rate of fire, and the second one coule be an SMG, although it’s unknown what “spray” could exactly mean. These files are usually only added when weapons are in the final stage before release. The ‘Baseball Bat’, ‘lm_t9slowfire’ & ‘pi_t9fullauto’ will either be for S3R or S4. — Zesty (@ZestyCODLeaks) April 9, 2021 The leak also gives further confirmation that the ballistic knife will be coming during the season, as it’s also featured in the new files. This weapon was previously leaked a few weeks back but at the time it wasn’t clear if it was coming during Season 3. With the release of the new season quickly approaching, fans will almost certainly start hearing details about the content update soon, with the full patch notes dropping the day before its release.

Warzone leak claims loadout change will be reverted in Season 2 – Dexerto
Warzone leak claims loadout change will be reverted in Season 2 ActivisionA renowned Call of Duty leaker has said that Warzone developers Raven Software will finally be reverting the highly-controversial loadout drop changes in Season 2 of Warzone Pacific. Kicking off the ‘Pacific’ era after the CoD: Vanguard integration, it was revealed that there would be a major change coming to Loadout Drops in Warzone. Instead of being readily available to buy as soon as you and your squad had sufficient funds, they changed the rules so that you could only buy a Loadout Drop when the first free loadout came in. This meant several long minutes of running around Caldera with floor loot weapons, hoping to find something that doesn’t recoil too much or is at least close to a meta choice. But that might not be the case any longer. After months of calls from players to revert the changes to loadout drops back to how they originally functioned, it looks like that is finally happening, according to renowned CoD leaker TheGhostofHope. In a short burst of tweets posted in the early hours of February 1, Hope shared that he’d been told the change was coming — but in different ways, and to different playlists. “AFAIK In Season 2 the loadout delay is being reverted in Regular BR Solos/Duos/Trios/Quads,” he explained, “but is staying in Vanguard Royale Solos/Duos/Trios/Quads but at half the time it currently is.” AFAIK IN SEASON 2 the loadout delay is being reverted in Regular BR Solos/Duos/Trios/Quads but is staying in Vanguard Royale Solos/Duos/Trios/Quads but at half the time it currently is. — Hope (@TheGhostOfHope) February 1, 2022 So while players are still split between regular BR or Vanguard Royale — or even part of the migration of players over to Rebirth Island — this might help make their minds up. Warzone Season 2 is set to start on Monday, February 14 after a slight delay. That means that if the leak is true, there’s not long now until gameplay can go back to how players remembered it back in Verdansk. Whether this changes people’s opinions of Caldera, and players find that map changes aren’t necessary to make the game better, remains to be seen.

Warzone lead dev lists all fixes in Pacific update but players aren’t impressed – Dexerto
Warzone lead dev lists all fixes in Pacific update but players aren’t impressed ActivisionThe Warzone Pacific update fixed so many lingering issues that have been in the game for months and when the lead dev listed everything the team worked on, players were not impressed. Caldera and the new update came out on December 8 changing many features that have been in Warzone. This included loadout drops, Dead Silence, Gas Masks, melee and Heartbeat Sensor nerfs, and many more. However, when lead dev, Ted Timmins, boasted about everything Raven Software fixed, the community didn’t seem to care. ✅ Dead Silence Nerf ✅ Stun Grenade Nerf ✅ Kali Sticks Nerf ✅ Lunge Nerf ✅ Pistol Whip Nerf ✅ Heartbeat Nerf ✅ Stopping Power Removed ✅ UAV Price+ ✅ Gulag Loadout Redeploy ✅ Movable Mounting ✅ New Contracts ✅ New Public Events ✅ Gas Mask Improvements— Ted Timmins (@JustTeddii) December 8, 2021 Warzone players unsatisfied as dev lists all fixes The Warzone Pacific update is marking a new era for the game as what people have come to know on Verdansk have been changed, removed, or nerfed. This Reddit post by ‘TheHappyItalianMan’ highlighted Timmins’ tweet bragging about all the things Raven Software fixed for Warzone Pacific. But players aren’t excited at all. The most upvoted comment and one that players are rallying behind is, “Only took them literally two years to implement these basic features.” Meaning that the community has been asking the devs forever to fix these common issues. Another Redditor added, “small balance changes, which should have been in a weekly patch years ago, presented as a gift to the community and huge improvement worthy a new game release.” Even with some of the changes, the player base wants it reverted. For example, people are not happy with the new loadout drop system and are begging it to go back to how it was. Most of the community sees this as a slap in the face as Raven Software are bragging about fixing problems that they feel should have been resolved months ago.

Warzone Last Hours of Verdansk event: Start date, time & Pacific Caldera map release – Dexerto
Warzone Last Hours of Verdansk event: Start date, time & Pacific Caldera map release Raven SoftwareThere’s not long left to go until Vanguard’s integration with Warzone, which will start with the Last Hours of Verdansk event. Here’s everything you need to know. Call of Duty players are free to enjoy Vanguard in its entirety, but there’s still a little while to go until the game’s highly-anticipated integration with Warzone. The Last Hours of Verdansk event will be the last time players experience the Verdansk era of Warzone before the switch to Vanguard brings a slew of new content. From the introduction of the brand new map Caldera to Activision’s highly-anticipated anti-cheat, here’s everything we know about the upcoming Last Hours of Verdansk event. Contents What is the Last Hours of Verdansk event? For Warzone’s integration with Vanguard, we should expect to see Verdansk sent off in a destructive way – similar to how Verdansk 1984 was introduced. That will lead to the arrival of the brand new map Caldera. The devs have been quite cryptic about the Last Hours of Verdansk event, but a Call of Duty blog post reads: “Bombs away – see what happens to Verdansk before Warzone goes dark to prepare for Caldera and Season One.” While the blog post doesn’t reveal much, it does indicate that we should expect a lot of destruction for the big send-off. Activision’s highly-anticipated anti-cheat RICOCHET will also arrive with the Vanguard integration. When is the Last Hours of Verdansk event? Warzone’s Last Hours of Verdansk event will arrive on November 30 and December 1. No specific time has been revealed by the devs, but judging by previous in-game Warzone events we should expect it to start at 12 PM PT/3 PM ET /8 PM GMT. Warzone players who own Vanguard get 24 hours of exclusive access to the new map on December 2. Those who don’t own Vanguard will be left to play Rebirth Island but will be able to play the new map from December 3.

Warzone July 2 update patch notes: Superi & Kar98 nerfs, JAK Requiem fix, more ActivisionThe patch notes for Warzone’s July 2 update have officially gone live, outlining a JAK Requiem Conversion Kit fix, nerfs for the Kar98 marksman rifle, and much more. Call of Duty: Warzone‘s latest patch has gone live across all platforms, with the changes focusing on weapon-related balance adjustments and bug fixes. Most notably, the Kar98k rifle has received a few nerfs, which decrease its arm, leg, and lower torso modifiers. This isn’t the only nerf, either. Developers have tweaked Warzone’s Superi 46 submachine gun, specifically reducing its lower torso, lower arm, and hand modifiers. This on top of a JAK Scimitar Kit fix could mean the FJX Horus will soon become the new favorite for SMG lovers. The bug impacting the JAK Requiem aftermarket part has also received a major fix, according to the release notes. Warzone justice served as multiple hackers get banned live during wild match – Dexerto
Warzone justice served as multiple hackers get banned live during wild match Activision / Pexels, EKATERINACall of Duty: Warzone is plagued by hackers in the highest lobbies and a streamer shows just how absurd the situation has gotten. In just one match, FaZe Nio saw five hackers, two of whom got banned mid-game. Encountering a hacker in Warzone typically leads to death and then rage spectating. Once spectating, there are two dreamlike outcomes: 1) the hacker gets killed by a normal player and 2) the hacker gets banned. While the former happens sometimes and is an understandably joyous cause for celebration when it does, the latter feels rarer. Streamers like TimTheTatMan have gotten a hacker banned live in the past, delighting the entire community. But one match of Warzone is icing on the hacker cake. Not only does Nio get to watch two hackers get banned live, the entire situation is embodied in the fact that… three cheaters still remained in the game. As you can see in Nio’s video, they run into a hacker that is as shameless as can be. Spinning in circles with silent aim activated, absolutely shredding people — it looks like the cheater is going to demolish the entire lobby. Then, suddenly, they vanish from the game. And boom, cue another hacker, this time bizarrely showing off some sort of unlimited armor plating hack? Or maybe it’s a bug, no one can really be certain because poof, they get kicked as well. While it’s exciting to see hackers get banned mid-game, this video raises questions. Sure, they could have also just signed out randomly — but that feels too coincidental to be true. The overwhelming takeaway here is that, even when hackers do get banned, there are always more to take their place. If a game of Warzone can have two hackers banned, but still suffer from three more, then what does that mean about the big ban waves? Warzone players enjoy the justice of some cheaters receiving the hammer of punishment, but it seems that there is much more to be done.

Warzone just lost its biggest streamer NICKMERCS – Dexerto
Warzone just lost its biggest streamer NICKMERCS Activision/NickmercsTwitch streamer Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff announced he’s quitting Warzone for the time being. He says the BR is “in a bad spot” and he’s just sick of playing in general. Without a doubt, NICKMERCS is the top Warzone streamer online, no matter which metric you look at. He’s solidly at the top of the list, but he’s announced he’ll be taking a break from the game — at least temporarily. In a new video called “Moving On…” posted on August 3, Nick explained how he had simply lost all drive and desire to play Warzone in recent weeks. “I have no desire whatsoever to play Warzone, I mean like zero, goose egg, I’d rather play f***king Pokemon,” the streamer explained. “I’m serious man, I just don’t wanna play. I’ve just lost the fire for Warzone, not for gaming, but for Warzone, I’m just burnt.” Longtime fans will know this isn’t the first time NICKMERCS has switched the “main” game he plays. It doesn’t seem like he’ll be staying away from CoD forever. “To be real, it really is a tough game to play right now,” he continued. “But, never been a better time to dip off from cod than now, you know? It’s August, couple of months until the new CoD comes out. So you know this is the worst time for Call of Duty in general.” NICKMERCS quitting Warzone because of hackers? While he didn’t say hackers were the specific reason he was leaving Warzone for now, NICKMERCS did make it clear they had helped him make up his mind. “For Warzone, the hacking has gotten to the point where it’s different for me. My last four tournaments I played in I got hacked out of,” the streamer explained. “Hacking’s crazy, and I think there’s a lot of people that hack, and they’re not doing anything about it. Like they don’t care, or at least that’s what it seems.” Where will NICKMERCS be headed now? Well he’s still one of the top Fortnite streamers as well, despite only playing in a couple of tournaments. On top of that, he’s close to breaking in to the top 10 Apex Legends streamers as well, so he should have no problems taking a break from CoD and Warzone for the time being.

Warzone just banned 90,000 cheaters but players demand more ban waves – Dexerto
Warzone just banned 90,000 cheaters but players demand more ban waves ActivisionThe Call of Duty: Warzone devs have once again swung the ban hammer in a big way, with over 90,000 accounts being banned in a series of ban waves. It’s been over two years since Warzone was first released onto the gaming world, and in that time, it’s had more than its fair share of issues with cheaters and suspect accounts. As hackers have taken over the battle royale at times, the devs have been in a constant firefight to prevent them from completely ruining things for others. That’s resulted in countless ban waves and the introduction of the Ricochet anti-cheat software – even though some players are still skeptical of its powers. Well, in response to those skeptics, Raven Software have added another insane amount of accounts to the game’s banned list, as they continue the clean-up efforts. After announcing some of the changes coming to Rebirth Island in the near future with the “Reinforced” map update, the developers also noted that they’d been rooting out some of the most suspect accounts in Warzone. “#TeamRICOCHET update: 90,000 accounts were removed in ban waves this week. Happy Friday,” they said, which immediately led to some celebrations from players. “I’ve noticed less cheaters tbh. Keep it up!” said one impressed player. “Haven’t come across a hacker in a while, GG,” another added. https://twitter.com/CallofDuty/status/1504985321603145730 Of course, not everybody shared in the excitement of the ban wave, with many stating that the anti-cheat needs “tuning up” if they’re only banning 90,000 accounts a week. Others quizzed the devs on just how many were “innocent” accounts were caught in the crossfire too, with some stating that they’d been hit in the ban wave despite being a low K/D player. Players who believe they have a case for being wrongfully banned can submit a support ticket with the developers. Though, for those legitimate cheaters who’ve been banned, it might be tough to return to the fight.

Warzone June 8 update patch notes: LTM Buy Station changes, audio fixes, more – Dexerto
Warzone June 8 update patch notes: LTM Buy Station changes, audio fixes, more ActivisionRaven Software made some slight adjustments to Warzone in the June 8 update — which are sure to alleviate some slight annoyances brought up by the community. Warzone’s June 3 update enabled High Value Loot Zones. Developers also stated in the June 3 update that they were looking into stats not tracking in the new LTM Champion of Caldera and footstep audio being heard from other players above when fighting in the Gulag. Footstep audio issues have yet to be resolved, but stats are now officially tracking in Champion of Caldera. Armor Boxes have been replaced by Armor Bundles at Buy Stations in Champion of Caldera. Boxes and Bundles both provided five armor plates, so it makes more sense for Bundles over Boxes in Champion of Caldera because the mode is only for solo players. Dropping an Armor Box for teammates is not required. The update also fixed an annoying issue that caused Operation Monarch audio to still be present in the Main Menu. Here are the full patch notes below – courtesy of Raven Software. 🛠️ A #Warzone update has gone live! Bug Fixes and a small adjustment to Champion of Caldera! Warzone June 30 update patch notes: NZ41 & Blixen nerfs, Lootable Perks on Fortune’s Keep, more – Dexerto
Warzone June 30 update patch notes: NZ41 & Blixen nerfs, Lootable Perks on Fortune’s Keep, more The Warzone June 30 update adds lootable Perks on Fortune’s Keep, fixed the UAV bug, buffed Snipers, and made significant nerfs to popular weapons such as the H4 Blixen and NZ-41. JGOD exposed a UAV bug on Fortune’s Keep and the latest patch addresses the issue. The NZ-41 currently dominates the Warzone meta, but a previously hinted at nerf has finally arrived for the powerful AR. Sniper Rifles fell out of the meta in favor of hyper-accurate ARs, but the update gives significant muzzle velocity increases to the Kar98k, Type 99, and Line Rifle. The H4 Blixen no longer excells in mid-range engagements as its damage range has drastically been reduced and the NZ-41 recoil now falls more in line with other ARs. The UGM-8 was hit hard by the update as its max damage and muzzle velocity were nerfed into the ground. The update also nerfed powerful attachments such as the MX-Silencer, M1941 Handstop, and Lengthened ammunition. Warzone devs roll out June 30 update again with FARA nerf & XM4 buff: Patch notes – Dexerto
Warzone devs roll out June 30 update again with FARA nerf & XM4 buff: Patch notes Activision-BlizzardRaven Software pushed out a brand new weapons patch for Call of Duty Warzone on June 30 with various tweaks including the FARA 83 and Nail Gun. It was rolled back a few hours later but, on July 2, the patch was pushed out once again. Season 4 of Warzone released back on June 17, and since they have done an excellent job at maintaining the game with multiple weapon patches and balance updates that fans of the game are welcoming with open arms. On June 30, the latest update arrived to implement some key weapon nerfs. From the controversial Nail Gun to the exceedingly popular FARA, a handful of guns were in focus. While the patch was rolled back mere hours later due to an unspecified yet “ongoing” issue, it was re-released on July 2, with some slight adjustments. Warzone June 30 patch notes Announced via Twitter and later updated on their blog post with all the patch notes for Season 4, Raven has addressed the Nail Gun with a significant nerf. This nerf sees the Nail Gun’s maximum damage range decreased by a staggering 39%. As well, the new patch also sees some changes for the FARA 83 and C58, both of which received nerfs this time around. Below is a quick overview of all the patch notes for June 30’s update. C58 (BOCW) Recoil increased slightly – – FARA 83 (BOCW) Recoil increased slightly – – XM4 (BOCW) Recoil Pattern smoothed – – Nail Gun (BOCW) Maximum Damage range decreased by 39% – – As well, they have explained the following as to why they have nerfed the Nail Gun so drastically. “The Nail Gun (BOCW) is and was meant to be a lethal, highly-mobile, short-range dominator. However, its Maximum Damage range far exceeded the lethal range of Shotguns, which it is intended to contest. The Nail Gun’s (BOCW) generous range and mobility allowed it to consistently dispatch foes at the same speed or faster than Shotguns at almost twice their effective range. While the Nail Gun’s (BOCW) pick rate has remained relatively low, we believe it would have been much higher were it more easily accessible.” Furthermore, they have also added some tweaks to some attachments for Warzone. Ranger (Assault Rifles except AK-47 (BOCW) & XM4 (BOCW)) Vertical Recoil Control decreased from 15% to 10% – – Takedown (Assault Rifles except AK-47 (BOCW) & XM4 (BOCW)) Horizontal Recoil Control decreased from 15% to 10% – – Reinforced Heavy / Match Grade / VDV Reinforced (Assault Rifles, Light Machine Guns) Vertical Recoil Control decreased from 7.5% to 5% – Horizontal Recoil Control decreased from 7.5% to 5% – – Task Force / Spetsnaz RPK / CMV Mil-Spec (Assault Rifles, Light Machine Guns) Vertical Recoil Control decreased from 15% to 10% – Horizontal Recoil Control decreased from 15% to 10% – – They have also mentioned some general feedback in regards to these changes. “We are satisfied with the overall direction of adding Recoil Control to BOCW Barrels. However, we would like the effectiveness of a Weapon to grow with the wielder as they improve. We felt with the magnitude by which recoil was being reduced, there was hardly any room left to master the control of these Weapons. We want Weapons to reward you for learning their reload timings, recoil patterns, and bullets to kill.” “Your proficiency with a Weapon should be a journey that is worked toward with an equivalent payoff. When we make Weapons too effective and too easy to control, there is no journey of mastery and we can become disinterested with these Weapons much quicker – which we feel can be a disservice. Even after these changes, we understand that there may still be incredibly effective and easy to control Weapons when enough Recoil Control is applied through attachments. We will continue to target these Weapons as they arise to ensure that they strike a satisfactory balance between upside and downside.” This patch should stir up the usage of the Nail Gun significantly, and we don’t know how extreme the recoil changes are to the FARA 83 and C58 just yet, so we will have to wait and see.

Warzone June 3 update enables High Value Loot Zones, fixes Gulag footstep audio, more – Dexerto
Warzone June 3 update enables High Value Loot Zones, fixes Gulag footstep audio, more ActivisionIn addition to the changes made as part of the June 2 Warzone update — adjustments are being made to High-Value Loot Zones, Gulag footstep audio, and Champion of Caldera stat tracking. Some of the largest community concerns were addressed in a June 2 Warzone patch, such as a Radar Jammer nerf, Vanguard Assault Rifle nerf, and an improved description for the Serpentine Perk. A new Limited Time Mode Champion of Caldera was added as well, but some issues did arise after the new update. Raven Software had to decrease the Champion of Caldera player count to 120 from 150 after server stability issues. Raven Software released a new small update on June 3 that addresses some of the issues from the June 2 update. Warzone High Value Loot Zones, Champion of Caldera fix, and footstep audio adjustments As seen in the tweet below from Raven Software, a small update addresses High Value Loot Zones, Champion of Caldera stat tracking, and Gulag footstep issues. Hig Value loot Zones are represented on the map by a $ sign and will provide the “best looting opportunities.” The patch notes state “We’ve enjoyed seeing how the addition of this new system has pulled players into landing at POIs they otherwise wouldn’t have planned to land. We expect this to be a popular feature.” 📢 We have pushed a small update to enable High Value Loot Zones in Battle Royale. You can read more about this new feature in the blog: https://t.co/bSBxJupgUF Additionally, Trello cards have been created for Champion of Caldera stats not tracking and Gulag footstep audio. — Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) June 3, 2022 As of writing this Champion of Caldera does not track wins, but Raven Software has addressed the issue on its Trello page and are working on a solution. Gulag footstep audio being heard from other players above when participating in a Gulag match has also been identified by Raven on Trello. We will provide an update when the Champion of Caldera stats start tracking and when Gulag audio is fixed.

Warzone June 2 update patch notes: STG & H4 Blixen nerfs, Restock changes, more A new Warzone Season 3 Reloaded patch adds a new LTM, changes to Perks, adjustments to Radar Jammer, and more. Raven Software has listened to community input and addressed many of the main concerns from players in a new June 2 Warzone patch. Concerns were raised over how overpowered Radio Jammers became on Rebirth Island so the patch reduced the spawn rate of the Radar Jammer Field Upgrade on Rebirth Island. There is now an updated description for the Serpentine Perk to explain that the damage reduction only affects base health. The throwing knife was made a one-hit down in Season 3 Reloaded update, but the Throwing Knife upper torso damage has decreased down to 200 from 300. Warzone June 2 update patch notes Some fans argued that Vanguard Assault rifles such as the STG were too overpowered so max damage for Vangaurd Assault Rifles was decreased to 27.9 meters, down from 30.1 meters. Warzone June 11 update patch notes: Sidewinder AMP buff, Crossbow nerf, more – Dexerto
Warzone June 11 update patch notes: Sidewinder AMP buff, Crossbow nerf, more ActivisionA new patch has hit Warzone that buffs the Sidewinder Aftermarket Part, addresses the Crossbow’s domination, and more. Despite the Kar98k being the highlight of Warzone Season 4, the Crossbow has been demolishing the in-game competition with its Blastcap 20″ Bolts one-shotting players left and right. June 11’s Warzone patch aims to solve that problem. Along with a Crossbow adjustment, the Sidewinder Battle Rifle received a buff, with a nice bump in fire rate to its Aftermarket Part. Warzone July 9 update patch notes: COR-45 exploit, Tac Sprint Boots spawn increase, more – Dexerto
Warzone July 9 update patch notes: COR-45 exploit, Tac Sprint Boots spawn increase, more ActivisionWarzone developers shared patch notes for the July 2 update, which features a COR-45 exploit fix, Tac Sprint Boots spawn adjustments, and more. The latest Call of Duty: Warzone update tackles a few issues and fixes a couple of noteworthy exploits. One bug addressed in the July 9 patch should ensure players no longer get stuck while loading the Main Menu, for example. Additionally, players who explore bunkers will find the number of Tac Sprint Boots that spawn has increased from one to three. Warzone developers have also axed the COR-45 exploit that previously let players take advantage of faster fire rates when using “non-standard input methods.” This isn’t the first time in recent memory that developers have issued a fix for the COR-45 handgun, either. A similar adjustment for the same fire rate glitch went live about two months ago on May 14. Patch notes for Warzone’s Season 4 July 9 update Call of Duty: Warzone’s July 2 release notes read as follows (via Activision): Global Stability and Performance Addressed an issue causing some players to become stuck loading the Main Menu. – Customization Addressed an exploit involving the Showcase allowing players to equip unearned items. – Warzone Gameplay Tac Sprint Boots Increased the number of Tac Sprint Boots that spawn in bunkers to 3, up from 1. 1 set of boots in the chest in the treasury room. – 2 sets of boots in the first bunker room, before the treasury room. – – – Increased the number of Tac Sprint Boots that spawn in bunkers to 3, up from 1. – Weapons COR-45 Addressed an exploit allowing a faster fire rate than intended using non-standard input methods. – – Call of Duty: Warzone July 9 update has gone live across all platforms.

Warzone July 28 update patch notes: Sniper rifle buff, Serpentine nerf & more – Dexerto
Warzone July 28 update patch notes: Sniper rifle buff, Serpentine nerf & more ActivisionThe Warzone Season 4 Reloaded update launched on July 27 – yet, the developers burned the midnight oil and added a few crucial amendments on July 28. Warzone’s Season 4 Reloaded Update received heaps of praise from the community for addressing several well-discussed issues. Radar jammers received a nerf, the developers unlocked all previously locked Vanguard guns, and the meta underwent a dramatic overhaul. Raven Software also promised changes to the sniper rifle class and a Serpentine nerf. Warzone players did not have to wait long, and the changes are now live. Sniper rifle buff and Serpentine nerf announced Sniper rifles used to be a go-to class in Warzone, but assault rifles took over in long-range combat efficiency. Players complained that assault rifles were too accurate and the developers addressed it in the Season 4 Reloaded patch notes. “The current health of the Long-Range Assault Rifle category is not where we’d like it to be as it stands. The best performing builds are ones that result in the least amount of recoil.” The NZ-41, KG m40, and Bar received drastic nerfs in response. Next up was getting the sniper rifle class back in line with assault rifles. In the July 28 update, all snipers receive roughly a 35% bonus to their maximum damage range. Raven Software stated, “the goal is not to return the fastest ADS sniper being the dominant weapon in all scenarios.” The Serpentine perk slightly reduces all damage from ballistics and explosives while normal sprinting. It can cut damage by more than a quarter of its normal value when tactical sprinting. Some players believed that perk made it too easy for players to escape gunfights and negatively affected the time to kill. Damage reduction decreased to 15% down from 20% for the Serpentine Perk in the July 28 update. The developers made the change, so it is still valuable, but it makes less of an impact on average TTK. Here are the full patch notes below…. Warzone July 28 patch notes WEAPONS We’ve seen a positive change in kill metrics since the update to Snipers in Season Three. The intent was to lean into smaller maps favoring the Aggressive Snipers vs Heavier being more suited for the large map. Our data shows that despite a smaller adoption rate (~9.5%) Snipers are still being accredited with a competitive amount of kills vs the more popular class of Weapons. However, we’d like to lean into the Weapon to map identity harder, and as such all Snipers are receiving roughly a 35% bonus to their maximum damage range. Lighter rifles, with their damage range builds, will now more reliably cover the typical sight lines found in Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep. The goal is to not return to the fastest ADS Snipers being the dominant Weapon in all scenarios – so if things begin to trend that way we will make targeted changes to other statistics of those stand-out Weapons. » Sniper Rifles « Kar98k (VG)Max Damage Range increased to 72 meters, up from 48 meters – – Type 99 (VG)Max Damage Range increased to 50 meters, up from 37 Meters – – 3-Line Rifle (VG)Max Damage Range increased to 111 meters, up from 82 Meters – – Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle (VG)Max Damage Range increased to 127 meters, up from 94 meters – – Swiss K31 (BOCW)Max Damage Range increased to 57 meters, up from 42 Meters – – Sniper Rifle Charlie (MW)Max Damage Range increased to 117 meters, up from 87 Meters – – Sniper Rifle Alpha (MW)Max Damage Range increased to 55 meters, up from 41 Meters – – HDR (MW)Max Damage Range increased to 117 meters, up from 87 Meters – – Rytec AMR (MW)Max Damage Range increased to 80 meters, up from 59 Meters – – Pelington 703 (BOCW)Max Damage Range increased to 58 meters, up from 43 Meters – – ZRG 20mm (BOCW)Max Damage Range increased to 137 meters, up from 102 Meters – – SP-R 208 (MW)Max Damage Range increased to 45 meters, up from 33 Meters – – LW3 – Tundra (BOCW)Max Damage Range increased to 61 meters, up from 45 Meters – – Sniper Rifle Charlie (BOCW)Max Damage Range increased to 92 meters, up from 68 Meters – – Marksman Rifle Charlie (MW)Max Damage Range increased to 49 meters, up from 36 Meters – – PERKS Serpentine Damage Reduction decreased to 15%, down from 20% – We’ve seen a positive adoption of Serpentine in Loadouts, and as such average encounter time has crept up. We’re reducing the bonus damage mitigation so that it’s still a valuable perk, but has less of an impact on average TTK. We’ll be watching this space closely and will make further adjustments as necessary. BUG FIXES Fixed an issue on Fortune’s Keep causing the gas to be more difficult to see than intended. – Fixed an issue that allowed Players to exploit Weapon Trade Stations. – Fixed an issue causing Deployable Buy Stations to remain active in the gas – allowing for unintended exploits. – Fixed an issue that caused the Skål Crusher (VG) to not have a Zombies Mastery Camo section available. – Fixed an issue causing incorrect unlock criteria to appear for the “The Vault” Vehicle skin in the Vehicle Customization menu. – Fixed collision issues with the AI mercenaries during the Cash Extraction Event on Fortune’s Keep. –

Warzone July 21 update: C58 4x nerf & Infinite Dead Silence glitch fix – patch notes – Dexerto
Warzone July 21 update: C58 4x nerf & Infinite Dead Silence glitch fix – patch notes ActivisionRaven Software has rolled out a new update to Warzone on July 21, fixing some major bugs affecting weapons, as well as the Dead Silence field upgrade. One of the headline fixes is to repair the broken 4x sight on the C58 assault rifle, which was giving it a reduced recoil pattern – making it even powerful than it already is as one of the most popular ARs. Also included is a fix for a very overpowered exploit, allowing players to essentially have infinite Dead Silence. Dead Silence is strong enough already, so this was an important fix for the devs to roll out efficiently. One slightly surprising change is the temporary removal of the offensive chat option in the report menu. Raven says that this has been changed purely due to a bug that needs to be fixed. 🛠️A #Warzone update is going live now! Includes Bug Fixes for the C58 (BOCW) Royal & Kross 4x Optic recoil, infinite Dead Silence, and more. The Season Four Reloaded patch notes have been amended (see July 21st): pic.twitter.com/Gs7p4fzmoM — Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) July 21, 2021 This is only a minor update, so outside of these changes, the patch notes include a bug fix for the sentry gun, and the ‘flavor text’ on Blueprints. Warzone July 1 update brings three key changes for Fortune’s Keep map – Dexerto
Warzone July 1 update brings three key changes for Fortune’s Keep map Raven SoftwareA Warzone update has brought some key changes to the new Fortune’s Keep map as players in the U.S. prepare for a long weekend of gaming. Fortune’s Keep was introduced as part of Season 4 on June 22, along with the Mercenaries of Fortune update. While the map has proven to be a popular new addition, players have had some complaints on the new stage. On July 1, Raven set an update live in an attempt to try and fix some of these issues. We’ve got the full rundown on the update right here. Fortune’s Keep will get more Buy Stations One of the biggest complaints from players about the new map was a lack of Buy Stations spread throughout the map. The July 1 update might not be the most massive we’ve seen, but it will try to rectify this issue by adding more Buy Stations across the map. This should make it easier to grab your loadout without having to go on a wild goose chase to actually find a shop. Speaking of buying your loadout, the Firesale Public Event will now happen in Circle 3. Warzone Fortune’s Keep July 1 Patch notes Below are the full patch notes for the July 1 Fortune’s Keep update in Warzone: The Firesale Public Event will now happen in Circle 3. – Cash Extraction Chopper can now appear in Circles 2 and 4. – More Buy Stations will appear across the map. –

Warzone January 7 update: Double-barrel shotgun nerfs, Bren & MP-40 plans, full patch notes – Dexerto
Warzone January 7 update: Double-barrel shotgun nerfs, Bren & MP-40 plans, full patch notes ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone fans should be overjoyed as the dreaded Double-Barrel Shotgun finally got nerfed in a January 7 update. Along with the changes, the devs noted a couple of other tweaks and plans for the Bren and MP-40. For what feels like an eternity now, the Akimbo, Sawed-Off Double-Barrel Shotguns have plagued the Warzone Pacific community. With Raven Software finally acknowledging the close-quarter behemoth’s issues on January 6, they’ve now gone ahead and nerfed them. The centerpiece of January 7’s Warzone patch is their efforts to fix the Double-Barrel Shotgun, whose Akimbo perk and Sawed-Off attachment are both receiving tweaks. Further, Raven also made a tweak to Plunder, deployed some bug fixes, and announced plans for the current meta options at range and up close: the Bren and MP-40. Warzone January 7 patch nerfs Double Barrel Shotguns and teases Bren, MP-40 nerfs As far as specific changes launched on January 7, the Double Barrel Shotgun loadout is having its mobility, damage, and hip-fire efficacy lowered. Additionally, the devs have fixed more environmental “collision issues” and doubled the Plunder cash threshold, up to $2 million. The patch also introduces some interesting future plans for weapon balancing. In the spirit of promoting weapon diversity, Raven announced that they will be nerfing both the Bren and MP-40 “in the near future.” Further, the devs explained that all Vanguard assault rifles will have their “visual recoil” decreased at some point as well. This tweak could serve to buff the ARs to make more of them feel viable. Warzone January 7: full patch notes GAMEPLAY Cash threshold to enable Overtime in the Plunder mode has been increased to $2,000,000, up from $1,000,000. – BUG FIXES Fixed collision issues with various elements across Caldera allowing Players to exploit/peek/shoot through them. – WEAPONS We would like to take a moment to discuss some of our upcoming plans as well as how our Weapon balance philosophy will be changing in Caldera. We will be looking to take on a more incremental approach to Weapon nerfs. We understand it can be frustrating to commit a great deal of time to a Weapon to have its viability completely stripped in an unexpected balance patch. We would like to reiterate that our north star is Weapon diversity. With that being said, we feel it is appropriate to announce that in the near future we will be making some adjustments to the Light Machine Gun Charlie (VG) and the Submachine Gun Charlie (VG) – with the intent of closing the gap between these two Weapons and their competitors. In addition, we will be toning down what is often referred to as ‘Visual Recoil’ on Vanguard Assault Rifles. We feel this will help promote a healthier, more diverse pool of mid to long-range Weapons. – ATTACHMENTS Barrel, Double Barrel (VG): Sawed-Off Move Speed decreased to 1.03, down from 1.04 – Perk, Double Barrel (VG): Akimbo Damage Multiplier decreased to .55, down from 1 – Damage Range Multiplier increased to 1, up from .6 – Move Speed decreased to .985, down from 1 – Hip Spread increased to 1.32, up from 1.28 – The Akimbo Double Barrel (VG) was able to consistently achieve lethality at extreme ranges. While we agree that Shotguns should be the most lethal option within close quarters, once that range begins to encroach on Submachine Gun territory, we must intervene. It may seem peculiar that we are removing the Damage Range downside from the Attachment given previous statements, however a more significant reduction to its overall Damage will make the Akimbo Double Barrel (VG) feel less oppressive at extreme ranges while maintaining its effectiveness in close quarters.

Warzone January 5 patch notes: Invisible skin fixed, Fire Sale changes, more – Dexerto
Warzone January 5 patch notes: Invisible skin fixed, Fire Sale changes, more ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone’s invisible skin is finally gone. In a new January 5 update, Warzone’s devs fixed the glitched Francis Operator, tweaked the Fire Sale event, and included more bug fixes in the full patch notes. After nearly a month-long reign of terror, the Pacific Battle Pass’s Tier 100 “Awoken Francis” Operator skin is finally being fixed. The outfit had previously ruined games and was even considered pay-to-win since it would turn people invisible past 35 meters. In the battle royale’s first update since the devs went on holiday break, fixing the invisible skin appears to have been a priority. Alongside this highly anticipated change, the January 5 Warzone patch notes also revealed an adjustment for Fire Sales among other small fixes. Warzone January 5 patch fixes invisible skin and changes Fire Sales The “Awoken Francis” Tier 100 skin was rightfully a sore spot for Warzone players. On such a big map like Caldera, being invisible (outside of your glowing mask) is a major advantage that only BP-paying customers were able to enjoy. With the January 5 update, that skin is now supposed to work as intended. Additionally, the devs have extended Fire Sale events so that they now last throughout the entire circle they begin during. Lastly, the new update fixed some bullet penetration and visibility bugs on the map – as well as some problems with loadout drop locations. Warzone Pacific January 5 full patch notes GAMEPLAY In Vanguard Modes, the Firesale Public Event will now last for the entire duration of the respective Circle that it starts with. – BUG FIXES Fixed collision issues with various elements across Caldera allowing Players to exploit/peek/shoot through them. – Fixed an issue causing every Loadout Drop to spawn at the exact same XY coordinates. – Fixed an issue causing the “Awoken” Francis Operator Skin to appear invisible beyond a certain distance. – An earlier version of this article mistakenly said December 5 instead of January 5 and, having corrected it thanks to some helpful Facebook commenters – we apologize for the confusion.

Warzone January 20 update: Infinite ammo bug fix, Katana buffs, full patch notes – Dexerto
Warzone January 20 update: Infinite ammo bug fix, Katana buffs, full patch notes ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone released a new update on January 20, mostly targeted at fixing bugs and adjusting the Katana melee weapon. Headlined by the infinite ammo fix, here are the full patch notes. Just a day after delaying Vanguard and Warzone Season 2 to focus on fixing the game’s issues, Raven Software are already releasing patches. The first (of possibly many) update addresses five distinct bugs and one weapon. The centerpiece glitch being patched is the infinite ammo reload-cancel, which allowed players to shoot endlessly with guns like the Type 11. Additionally, bugs like collision issues and contract reward inconsistencies were amended. Of interest to the melee community will be the buffs to the Vanguard Katana weapon. This sword received three buffs and one nerf, making it much more viable for players interested in running Ghost loadouts. As Raven explained in their patch notes, they’ve now addressed the reload animations which ‘allowed certain weapons to fire continuously.’ Further, the Katana buffs are pretty fun. The weapon’s damage was increased from 135 to 150, its standing and crouching charge ranges were each increased, and to balance it all out – its movement speed was decreased by 2%. Warzone January 20 full patch notes Bug Fixes Fixed collision issues with various elements across Caldera allowing Players to exploit/peek/shoot through them. – Fixed an issue causing the menu screen to flicker when attempting to join a friend or queue with a party. – Fixed an issue with reload animations allowing certain Weapons to fire continuously. – Fixed an issue causing Private Lobby hosts to crash. – Fixed an issue causing the regular/Advanced UAV rewards from Big Game Bounty and [TOP SECRET] Contracts to not trigger if the player was in a vehicle or anti-air gun. – Melee Katana (VG) Damage increased from 135 to 150 – Standing Charge Range increased by 36.5% – Crouching Charge Range increased by 17% – Move Speed decreased by 2% –

Warzone Jan 11 update: MTZ Interceptor nerf, Snake Shot adjustment & bug fixes ActivisionSeason 1 Reloaded is almost here, but a balancing pass has come to Warzone with small fixes and nerfs across the board. Here’s everything you need to know coming in the Warzone patch notes. Since MW3 and Warzone integrated, the latter mode has been dominated by the MTZ Interceptor and the Snake Shot attachments. On Jan. 11, Raven Software finally addressed both in-game items, with a balancing pass over the damage dealt by them. Aside from those passes, the patch deploys a bevy of bug fixes to hold players over until Season 1 Reloaded arrives on January 17. Warzone patch adds JAK Deathmarch Aftermarket Part but you can’t use it yet – Dexerto
Warzone patch adds JAK Deathmarch Aftermarket Part but you can’t use it yet ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone’s August 28 update has already disabled the new JAK Deathmarch Aftermarket Part. A Warzone Season 5 update was meant to introduce the Jak Deathmarch Conversion Kit to the game, specifically for the BAL-27 assault rifle. While the popular battle royale’s Wednesday, August 28 patch did indeed add the aftermarket part, players will find they cannot use it as of yet. In patch notes, Activision confirmed the following: “Due to an issue, the JAK Deathmarch has been disabled.” This means the Conversion Kit will be temporarily unavailable. At the time of writing, though, developers have not clarified when Call of Duty users can expect it to enter the experience in full. What’s special about this particular Aftermarket Part is that it replaces regular ammunition with high-voltage power cells. It also exchanges the assault rifle’s usual barrel for a photonic scatter barrel. When all is said and done, this kit sees the BAL-27 rifle firing laser blasts for deadly short-range attacks. Despite Activision temporarily removing Warzone’s JAK Deathmarch from play, users can still unlock it in-game through a series of Week 6 challenges. Warzone players who want to eventually turn their BAL-27 into a laser-firing weapon will need to complete at least five of the Week 6 challenges. Notably, a few of the tasks include finishing 15 Contracts, getting 5 Operator Kills or Kill Assists, and opening 20 Loot Caches in the North, West, East, or South Regions. Patch notes for Call of Duty: Warzone’s August 28 update also noted that developers have disabled C4 in Ranked Play matches. The release notes additionally outline a host of bug fixes, one of which addresses an issue that briefly allowed players to duplicate most items, including Gas Masks and even Precision Airstrike Killstreaks.

Warzone is increasing lag with forced setting that can’t be turned off – Dexerto
Warzone is increasing lag with forced setting that can’t be turned off ActivisionThe Season 5 Reloaded update for MW3 and Warzone introduced a range of interesting new content, but it also forced players to enable a graphics setting that increases lag. Some Call of Duty players logging in following the new update may have noticed they are experiencing more latency than before. A potential cause of this is the change on August 21 that made On-Demand Texture Streaming mandatory. On-Demand Texture Streaming is a graphics setting found in the Quality tab that uses your internet to download textures as you play. The main advantage of this is that it allows users to have high-quality textures while minimizing the game’s file size. However, this comes at the cost of potentially increasing lag during gameplay. It’s an additional strain on your network’s bandwidth, which can result in added latency, especially for those with slower connections. Before the update, On-Demand Texture Streaming could be freely disabled, which was actually recommended for those wanting to maximize performance. However, there are now only two options: Minimal and Optimized. Optimized makes the game download additional high-quality textures, while Minimal only downloads essential textures. While the latter uses less bandwidth, both use more bandwidth than what was available before the update. The Call of Duty community has spoken out against this, with one highly upvoted comment on Reddit expressing, “I hate, and I mean hate On-Demand Texture Streaming. It just makes the game feel laggy af.” Similarly, another user responded, “Yep, connection to their servers can be absolutely abysmal at times, now with forced texture streaming on top of it? What a joke. Just let me download the 64 GB textures once and be done.” Several other users in the thread claimed to have experienced increased packet loss since the update went live, while others questioned why this was forced onto the community. The most common request was for Activision to offer an optional download to store the textures. This approach would give Warzone players the option to choose between a smoother experience with a larger file size or a smaller file size with increased latency.

Warzone is hurting itself by keeping Ranked Play in Resurgence only – Dexerto
Warzone is hurting itself by keeping Ranked Play in Resurgence only ActivisionWarzone’s Ranked Play looks to be solely focused on Resurgence in Season 4, and it feels past time that it returns to the core battle royale mode. Ever since Rebirth Island made its return, it’s looking like devs have only had their sights set on that map and its respective game mode, including only having its most competitive mode available for it. It’s an unfortunate shift in priority that is causing the standard battle royale mode and its bigger maps to feel like an afterthought. It was a cool moment for the community when Rebirth Island made its return to Warzone after a few years away. However, that novelty has worn off and it’s time to return to what else the game has to offer. Warzone didn’t make its name through Rebirth Island and Resurgence; it was made off of a big map, with hundreds of players fighting for survival. Having Ranked Play only be available to Resurgence is an insult to what else there is to do in the game. It’s restricting competitive players to just a sliver of content. The community has been clamoring for some love to be given back to the other modes, especially Urzikstan, the biggest map in the game. As one user on the Warzone subreddit laments: “Another season without BR ranked. I just don’t get the thinking with this.” The most frustrating part, devs told the community that there would be Ranked Play in the other modes sometime this year. Now, we are roughly six months into the year, but with the announcement for the next entry seemingly around the corner, it feels like there’s not a lot of time to bring it back. The decision is hard to comprehend when looking at Modern Warfare 3 and its multiplayer mode. There, Ranked Play incorporates just about every map, game mode, and only keeps a few weapons out of rotation. But even with those restrictions it still feels like competitive players can have access to a majority of the content. It works there, so why can’t it work for Warzone? Don’t get me wrong: Resurgence is a fun mode and needs to stay in the game. But it shouldn’t be the only mode that gets Ranked Play. It should be available to everyone, no matter what mode or map they prefer. As it stands, Warzone feels like its scope is narrowing too far into this one mode when it has so much more to offer.

Warzone is focusing on Rebirth Island at the expense of the game’s health – Dexerto
Warzone is focusing on Rebirth Island at the expense of the game’s health Raven SoftwareThe latest update unveiling the Season 3 Reloaded changes spotlights multiple changes to Rebirth Island but lacks updates in other areas. If Warzone wants to have hype for the future, it can’t get stuck on this one map. The rerelease of Rebirth Island was an exciting moment for Warzone, as it brought back a fan-favorite map and combined it with the updated mechanics of Modern Warfare 3. It was a play on nostalgia that worked. Since the return of Rebirth Island, Warzone has been fixated on it, and the freshly revealed Season 3 Reloaded update details indicate that this trend could continue with the update’s launch. Most of the content coming to Warzone is centered around Rebirth Island, with the new killstreak, event, and Field Upgrade only available on that map. The only other hint of updates outside Rebirth Island is a tease about bunkers in Urzikstan. It’s a disappointing content plan that has some players feeling like Warzone, as a whole, is an afterthought from the devs. There are three other maps in Warzone, and yet, Rebirth Island is getting all the love. It was logical for the start of Season 3 to focus on the new version’s launch. but to continue that with this midseason update? That’s too much, and players seem ready to move on. The Warzone subreddit has expressed this sentiment, and it’s clear to see why: Rebirth Island’s compact size has led to its thorough exploration, leaving little left to uncover or explore. The community doesn’t want to be stuck on this small map to see the new additions. Part of what made Warzone so spectacular when it first released in 2020 was the size of the matches. 150 players on a huge map made the entire thing feel epic, and when they did release some smaller maps, they served as great places to take a break now and then. The game truly shines on its expansive maps, and confining everything to Rebirth Island risks dissatisfaction among players. They crave the grand scale and epic experiences offered by larger maps and rightfully expect fresh content in those environments as well. Not to mention that the battle royale experience is not available on Rebirth Island; Resurgence is the only mode that can be played. Warzone is a battle royale at its heart and focusing solely on a side mode isn’t sustainable. Neglecting other maps risks stagnation in the overall game experience. Without enticing updates, players may grow weary and eventually depart, posing a significant risk to player retention. As Season 3 draws to a close, losing players is not the desired outcome. However, without updates to the larger maps, the risk of losing players increases. This is far from a death sentence for Warzone, but it is frustrating to see such a small part of a much bigger game get all the love.

Warzone is bringing back Snoop Dogg but not everyone is pleased by his return – Dexerto
Warzone is bringing back Snoop Dogg but not everyone is pleased by his return Twitch/SnoopDoggSnoop Dogg is set to make his Call of Duty return in Warzone Season 3, however not all fans are happy about the news. Snoop Dogg is once again returning to the Call of Duty franchise, the rapper set to drop in in the form of a new skin that will be available when Season 3 of the game goes live. As well as the return of Rebirth Island, it appears that Season 3 is shaping up to hit fans with a wave of nostalgia. After all, Snoop Dogg is an operator and playable character in Call of Duty: Vanguard, Call of Duty: Mobile and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. Now, he’s coming back in MW3 and Warzone once again. In light of this, the CoD community has taken to social media to share their thoughts on the news that Snoop Dogg will once again be joining the franchise as an operator. For some, the return of the rapper signifies a major trip down memory lane. One Warzone player commented on X (formerly known as Twitter) that they are excited to once again play as Snoop on Rebirth. “Bet. I left OG Rebirth as Snoop, I’ll hopefully be able to return to Rebirth as [him].” Others added, “Exciting news! It’s always fun to see familiar faces popping up in unexpected places.” However other CoD players are less excited about the announcement that Snoop will once again be in the game. Citing a lack of new content as being the main source of frustration. “Boring. No disrespect to Snoop but bruh you’ve been in enough CoDs, time to add other celebrities,” argued one player. Another added, “I already bought him in Warzone 1 just for it to be taken away from me, I ain’t buying him twice.” It is unclear how players will be able to unlock the Snoop Dogg skin just yet. However, we’ll be sure to keep you updated on when we know how and when players will be able to unlock Snoop Dogg in Warzone.

Warzone is adding Unlimited Tactical Sprint but there’s a catch – Dexerto
Warzone is adding Unlimited Tactical Sprint but there’s a catch ActivisionAfter months of demands from the movement kings of Warzone, developers Raven Software have agreed to add unlimited tactical sprint to the game, but there is a slight catch, as it won’t be available for everyone. In the original Warzone on Verdansk, players didn’t technically have unlimited tactical sprint, but slide canceling would reset the mechanic, meaning you could simply slide and tac sprint all the way across the map without slowing down at all. That type of movement was lost entirely when Modern Warfare 2 launched and integrated with Warzone 2, and since the arrival of Modern Warfare 3, Warzone has found itself meeting in the middle, with faster movement and sliding, but without the “unlimited” tac sprint. Now, though, unlimited tac sprint is finally coming to Warzone with Season 4 on May 29, but there is a slight catch. Here’s how it works, and how you can use it. Firstly, you have to know that this isn’t simply a setting you can turn on or an automatically-added movement change. You get Unlimited Tactical Sprint by using the Tactical Sprint boots — but you can’t simply apply these to your loadout before loading in. To get the boots, you need to find them in one of the bunkers scattered across Urzikstan, meaning they won’t be available in Rebirth Island, Vondel, or elsewhere. If you don’t already know the Urzikstan bunker locations, you can find them in the following places: Outskirts of Levin Resort – Porpov power – Orlov Military Base – Seaport District – Old Town – Between Old Town and Low Town – North of Old Town by the water – Hadiqa Farms – Bottom left corner of the map – Zaravan Suburbs – In the middle of Low Town, Zaravan Suburbs and Shahin Manor – South of Shahin Manor – The MW3 & Warzone Season 4 announcement was made on Monday, May 20 and the Tactical Sprint boots aren’t the only new arrival, with the likes of the Specialist perk coming to Warzone again, as well as new multiplayer maps and more.

Warzone invisibility glitch accidentally makes Battle Pass pay-to-win – Dexerto
Warzone invisibility glitch accidentally makes Battle Pass pay-to-win ActivisionThe December 15 update for Warzone Pacific has introduced a number of bugs into the game. One of the more severe makes the Tier 100 Awoken skin invisible over a certain distance, appearing to make the Battle Pass temporarily pay-to-win. After the much-anticipated release of the new Caldera map, Warzone Pacific has launched with a handful of teething problems. The 1.50 update on December 15 aimed to fix a number of bugs, as well as nerf the overpowered Automaton. However, alongside a number of fixes, the patch appears to have brought with it some new issues that weren’t present before. We’ve already seen the Kar98k made into a semi-auto rifle, but the problems don’t stop there. A bug with the Tier 100 Battle Pass skin is turning players invisible from a specific distance away. In turn, this glitch is making Warzone temporarily pay-to-win. The issue was uncovered by ex-pro CoD player Benny Central. In a post to his official Twitter account, he revealed that the recent update makes the Awoken Francis skin impossible to see from over 35 meters away. He accompanied the Tweet with a video, in which a player was aiming at him with the skin equipped. Based on the marker found on the HUD, you can see that once he runs 35 meters away from the player he completely vanishes. So, just discovered the Tier 100 skin in Warzone Pacific makes you invisible past 35 meters after last nights update…. Please fix @RavenSoftware pic.twitter.com/wgUhKS7DHK — BennyCentral (@BennyCentral) December 15, 2021 The invisibility seems to apply whether you are a teammate or an enemy, which makes this glitch especially game-breaking. Anyone who has managed to reach level 100 in the Battle Pass has a significant advantage over their opponents in long-range gunfights. A few well-placed sniper shots from more than 35 meters away could wipe out a team before they even realize an enemy is nearby. Perhaps the biggest problem this raises is that the broken skin can only be obtained by purchasing the Battle Pass and grinding or paying to reach Level 100. For the time being, at least, it seems that Warzone is pay-to-win until a fix is deployed. When you consider the drastic impact this could have on Warzone matches, players will be hoping that Raven Software is working on a patch. Until then, players should take extra care when exploring Caldera.

Warzone invincibility bug is back and worse than ever – Dexerto
Warzone invincibility bug is back and worse than ever ActivisionWarzone has seen many bugs throughout the seasons, some being more annoying than others. Invincibility has been something that is ruining Warzone, but this time it’s back as a bug and players are abusing it in solos. While there have been many glitches in Warzone, one that is certainly no stranger to the streets of Verdansk is invincibility. From the previous god-mode hacks to normal players just not taking damage, variations have been around for quite some time. Now, there is a bug that is bringing back invincibility and anyone can do it, ruining the warzone experience for the majority of players. Warzone Rytec and Riot Shield are causing invincibility bug Players are fuming over Warzone’s latest glitch, this is allowing players to become invincible and never die. While many thought this was an act of hackers, it is actually a bug that anyone can do. This Reddit clip posted by ‘NuttyMcCrunch’ shows themself in a solo game when they encountered a couple of players with riot shields. These players were teaming up in the solo mode and were invincible. After the player dies they stayed in the game to spectate. You can see that these other players are teaming up in solos and every time they take damage it just leaves them at one health point. One Redditor was quick to point out that this is a bug and not a hack. This glitch is happening when players use a riot shield and get shot by a Rytec sniper. Another player links to a previous Reddit thread that showcases this issue when using explosive rounds on the Rytec. This video shows a player with one health point running around with a riot shield. In the thread, you can see tons of videos showing off this broken bug and how it is running games. Players in this thread said it would be hard to replicate as the Rytec is not popular at all in Warzone. However, when people are teaming with one another this glitch can become game-breaking. For now, there has been no word from Activision about fixing this insanely annoying bug, but the community is pushing really hard as this is destroying the state of BR Solos.

Warzone players annoyed devs didn’t remove “pointless” cutscene in Season 2 – Dexerto
Warzone players annoyed devs didn’t remove “pointless” cutscene in Season 2 ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players can’t believe developers didn’t remove the “pointless” intro cutscene in Season 2. The Urzikstan update in late 2023 replaced the pre-match cutscene for WZ 2.0 with a brand-new introductory sequence. Longtime Warzone players weren’t happy in the least bit. Many called the intro cringe-inducing and argued that it overstayed its welcome, especially since people were eager to dive into the game. Players had high hopes that developers would address the criticism in a future update. However, the recent rollout of Season 2 indicates the much-disliked cutscene is sticking around for an indeterminate period of time. Warzone players hate that the intro cutscene wasn’t removed After the Warzone Season 2 launch, Redditor who goes by CreaytoR shared a screenshot as proof that the loathed intro’s still in place. “Can’t believe they didn’t remove this intro or at least change it with season 2… I’m getting tired of getting told to wash my a**,” reads the caption. Even a cursory glance through the comments shows a contingent of fans agree – Warzone developers should remove the cutscene. One reply reads, “I cringe every time before deployment.” Another Reddit user chimed in to say, “I don’t get why they don’t let you skip that and the pre-game warm-up entirely.” Someone else slammed the scene for feeling “so damn pointless.” However, a few people argued that it may have a purpose. One person posited, “It’s server spinup time I am pretty sure,” suggesting the game needs time to boot up essentially. If so, it seems fans wouldn’t be angry if Call of Duty developers found another way for them to pass the time pre-match.

Warzone integration for Modern Warfare & Black Ops Cold War confirmed – Dexerto
Warzone integration for Modern Warfare & Black Ops Cold War confirmed ActivisionCall of Duty’s developers have revealed precisely how Warzone will integrate content, including guns, equipment, and operators, from both 2019’s Modern Warfare and 2020’s Black Ops Cold War. [jwplayer br5AuoVJ] For months, CoD fans have been dying to know if everything they’ve grinded to unlock and spent hard-earned cash to purchase in Warzone will carry over once the next annual installment of the franchise releases on November 13. Now, Activision has explained what had been rumored and teased by confirming that everything you’ve already unlocked is planned to continue on into the popular battle royale. In a historic first, they’ve also elaborated that players will be able to mix and match their weapons from Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare with their new unlocks in Treyarch’s Black Ops Cold War. What fans have been hoping for is finally confirmed by Activision’s latest blog. Warzone continues on into the Black Ops Cold War lifespan, with each title’s guns, equipment, and operators being integrated into the battle royale. Similarly, Battle Pass progression will accumulate across all three games. Warzone Integration As mentioned, Warzone is planned to integrate both Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War. That means players will have the capacity to utilize content, including weapons, equipment, and operators, from both games while playing Warzone. This also holds for Battle Pass and gun leveling, as players will be able to progress their weaponry and BP in Warzone. Although, they won’t be able to progress Modern Warfare weapons in Black Ops Cold War (and vice versa). Player Progression In a historic first for CoD, BOCW’s first season will come with the ability to sync up player progression across multiple titles in the FPS franchise. A Prestige Mode and Battle Pass progression system will hold true throughout each game, but with a specific focus on BOCW, where new challenges and the like will let players progress at a speedier pace. Weapon Progression Perhaps the most exciting and highly anticipated news, Activision confirmed that, at the very least, Season 1 will allow Warzone players to use weapons from both BOCW and MW. This means that the Gunsmith is hitting a new level of depth, as fans will be able to mix and match their weaponry (including blueprints and camo variants) from two fully-fledged CoD titles all within the battle royale. “Every weapon you’ve unlocked in Modern Warfare, as well as every weapon you’re going to unlock in Black Ops Cold War, is planned to continue to be available in Warzone.” MW fans should be encouraged to know that all of their hard work grinding out Obsidian and Damascus camos won’t be for naught, as their favorite guns should continue to be available even once BOCW is integrated. Eliciting some concern, though, is Activision explaining that this is “the current plan.” This suggests that things may change and some weaponry may become ineligible, but it’s at least comforting to know the plans are for everyone, no matter the game, to be able to enjoy Warzone with a variety of weaponry. Of course, you will not be able to use your MW guns in BOCW nor your BOCW guns in MW. Warzone is the home for everything. As for unlocking new BOCW guns, as soon as you earn or unlock them in the upcoming title, they will instantly become available to your Warzone options. Further, the developers have expressed that, at the moment and for Season 1 at the very least, all unlocked weapons can be leveled in Warzone and all of MW’s miscellaneous items (perks, equipment, field upgrades, killstreaks) will remain available on Verdansk. Operator Selection Money gets spent on weapon blueprints, but perhaps even more money gets spent on operators. And Modern Warfare’s abundance of operators was no joke, as fans will swiftly recall a Halloween season filled to the brim with hilarious odes to popular horror films. Fortunately, all of those characters (alongside their skins, quips, and finishing moves) should remain available in Warzone once Black Ops Cold War hits the market. Like the Gunsmith, your Operator grid should expand heavily, as all of BOCW’s new character models will become available in Warzone as well once unlocked. There is one exception though: Marine Corps Master Sergeant Frank Woods will be playable across all three games, while the others are limited to Warzone and their original title. Battle Pass Integration As mentioned earlier, the Battle Pass progression will also tie in all three games. This means players will be able to continue unlocking content in each season, no matter which title they’re playing on. Although the Season 1 Battle Pass will only have content accessible through Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, players will be able to level up and view their BP by playing Modern Warfare. As time passes, fans can expect to hear more about integration and find out what is in store for the initial seasons. For now, it’s simply encouraging to know that some of those hours and dollars spent will not go to waste.

Warzone infinite ammo glitch found with akimbo weapons – Dexerto
Warzone infinite ammo glitch found with akimbo weapons Infinity WardA new glitch has been found in Call of Duty: Warzone, allowing players to have infinite ammo while using the Akimbo perk on their weapons. Modern Warfare’s battle royale mode, Warzone, has had its fair share of puzzling issues since its launch on March 10. The latest game-breaking exploit that was found is one of the most bizarre, however, as it allows players to have infinite ammo when making use of the Akimbo weapon perk. While Akimbo weapons are not often seen as a go-to pick in Warzone loadouts, due to their inaccuracy outside of short-range gunfights, a new exploit allows players to never run out of ammo when using the perk. YouTuber Acez Gaming highlighted the glitch on April 18, explaining that although it was situational, it could still provide players with an unfair advantage during certain fights. He showed that players could fire all but one round out of their left or right akimbo gun before swapping it with a weapon on the floor, then picking it back up to find that the clip’s ammo had completely replenished. “When you’re shooting with that left pistol and picking up a weapon, it reloads it automatically and works for any Akimbo pistol,” he explained. Acez also highlighted that the glitch was particularly strong with weapons such as the 357 Snakeshot and later called for Warzone devs to patch the exploit. “You essentially don’t have to reload your weapon. You can just sit here and spam, you can kinda see how this would be broken right?” he added, “the goal is for the glitch/exploit to be fixed and removed from the game.” Although it requires players to be near a weapon when abusing the exploit, it has the potential to give players an unfair advantage in gunfights, particularly at some of Verdansk’s power positions that are often scattered with loot. Thankfully, most of the time the glitch will be too situational for players to use, but a fix would still be best.

Warzone in shambles as outrageous one-shot Akimbo Snakeshots take over meta – Dexerto
Warzone in shambles as outrageous one-shot Akimbo Snakeshots take over meta Activision BlizzardAkimbo Snakeshot revolvers have been a problem in the past with Warzone, and it seems history has repeated itself in MW3’s Warzone. Players have found an Akimbo Snakeshot loadout with the Tyr revolvers that literally one-shots people, and people are already frustrated with playing against them. Having a true one-shot in Warzone has been something players have always sought out. Various weapons have been nerfed over the years to keep people from instantly killing their opponent. And, while a few one-shot sniper rifles have proven capable of taking someone down in a single blow, it’s rare. Shotguns also tend to take multiple shots, even if they’re a slow to rechamber pump or double barrel. But, if one shotgun won’t do the job, why not take two with you? Warzone players have discovered that Snakeshot Tyrs are just as strong as the initial akimbo Snakeshots that took over Warzone all those years ago, leading to the kickoff of an incredibly frustrating meta for many. Akimbo Tyr Snakeshots take over Warzone meta With Warzone having just recently arrived in MW3, players have been trying to figure out which weapons are the best options in the mode. And, to Sledgehammer’s credit, they’ve made some quick balance adjustments to nerf a large variety of meta weapons in the time since Warzone’s launch. A number of strong guns had their damage drastically decreased, and most Akimbo weapons were nerfed. However, one thing slipped under their radar: Akimbo Tyr Snakeshots. Clips of just how strong these weapons are at close range are plastered all over social media, and players are quickly putting down their rifles and loading their revolvers to make quick work of everyone in the lobby. Rated took out 3 players in 2 seconds in a full-squad wipe that, without Snakeshot revolvers of their own, looked genuinely impossible to play against. And, while there’s a certain level of skill in landing those consistent shots for a clip like this, there’s no denying that these weapons are incredibly overtuned. These guns were so overpowered that Raven Software stepped in to disable Snakeshot Tyrs entirely in an emergency hotfix, making this weapon literally impossible to use less than a day after the weapon took off in the meta. With Raven confirming that they’ll be substantially nerfing Snakeshot when it gets put back in the game, it’s likely that we’ll never see the Tyrs be this busted again.

Warzone in MW3: New map, major gameplay changes, nuke, more ActivisionThe launch of Modern Warfare 3 is due to bring a number of huge changes to Warzone battle royale, including a new map, perk and loadout changes and some significant quality of life updates. Here’s everything we know. COD Next took place on October 4, 2023, giving players their first look at what to expect from the upcoming Call of Duty title and everything that comes with it. Of course, one huge facet that millions of players will be interested in is Warzone. When it first launched in 2020 it became one of the biggest games in the world, but has slowly started to whittle in popularity over time, with many players frustrated by the launch of Warzone 2 in 2022. This year, there will be major changes once again, as the game changes to welcome in Modern Warfare 3. Here’s everything we know about it so far. Contents New MW3 Warzone map – All maps and modes in Warzone MW3 – What is MW3 Warzone movement like? – Will Warzone have ranked play? – Perk & loadout changes – Major gameplay changes – New MW3 Warzone Gulag – MW3 Warzone nuke – Quality of life updates – New Warzone map: Urzikstan The new Warzone map is going to be Urzikstan, which is set to make the 11 POIs more connected, promising improved rotation and cover and heavily inspired by the nostalgic elements of the game that have made players so excited for Modern Warfare 3. Urzikstan will be replacing Al Mazrah in the game, joining small-scale Resurgence maps Ashika Island and Vondel. All Warzone maps and modes in MW3 As mentioned, Warzone will feature Urzikstan as the main battle royale map, as well as Ashika Island and Vondel from the current iteration of Warzone. The game is expected to have battle royale, resurgence, and Plunder in Season 1. What will MW3 Warzone movement be like? Warzone movement will emulate that of Modern Warfare 3, which is expected to be slightly faster and more fluid than its predecessor. It will be somewhat of a throwback to the movement that was so beloved in Modern Warfare (2019), that players have claimed increases the skill gap and makes it more enjoyable, including stims to increase movement speed and improvements to traversal and mantling. Will Warzone have Ranked? Warzone is expected to have Ranked Play once again when the new iteration drops, though it won’t be there at launch. The current timeline for Warzone ranked is some time in 2024, so it could be shortly after launch. Perk & loadout changes The current perk and loadout system will continue in after Modern Warfare 3 launches, though there will be some slight tweaks. For example, Combat Scout will be returning, and Ghost will require players to be moving to be activated. There will also be three new perks. They are: Shrouded – Smoke grenade dropped when downed – Irradiated – Move faster and take less damage in the gas. – Resolute – Increased movement when damaged – Gameplay changes There will be new tacticals and lethals in Warzone, as well as killstreaks, integrated in from Modern Warfare 3. The Big Game Bounty contract also returns. There will be some mobility changes in the new Warzone, with Ziplines providing additional rotation, and redeploy drones coming back with more movement. Warzone will also feature a controllable train that you can use the handbrake in, reverse, or move at full speed, offering a slightly enhanced mobility option. Will there be a new Gulag in MW3 Warzone? Yes, there will be a new Gulag in Warzone when the new integration launches. It will be 1v1 with a simple 3-lane layout, though there will also be a night-vision version, with a random chance of getting either the day or night-time gulag. Will there be a nuke in MW3 Warzone? Yes, there will be a nuke in the new iteration of Warzone after the Modern Warfare 3 integration, though the Champion’s Quest will work slightly differently. In the new game, if you kill and team wipe the team with the Champions Quest contract, they drop the contract and it can be stolen — allowing you to earn a nuke without getting 5 consecutive match wins. Quality of life updates Players can expect the continuation of the current health system, with HP up to 150. The pacing should be faster, too, with adjustments in circle closing time and size. Players will also have the ability to manually equip Gas Masks, providing a bit more freedom over how you play in the gas. One tweak of note is that players will always be armed with a pistol while swimming, enhancing their survivability in aquatic situations. There are also changes coming to Contracts, with different rewards and making them easier to find, a complaint that was common after the Warzone 2 integration. The next iteration of Warzone is expected to launch on December 5, 2023.

Warzone in-game leak suggests new killstreak coming to Buy Stations – Dexerto
Warzone in-game leak suggests new killstreak coming to Buy Stations Activision[jwplayer qiSnM8TU] Players have recently spotted Counter UAVs in Warzone, but a leak suggests that the killstreak will soon be coming to Buy Stations. Infinity Ward is always changing the meta in Warzone. Whether it be rotating the loot that’s dotted around Verdansk or changing the weapons in the Gulag, players are always kept on their toes. Most recently, Warzone welcomed a host of Contracts to spruce up the action — including the popular ‘Most Valuable Player’ Contract, which can prove invaluable when your team is sat on the sidelines. But not much has changed in terms of the killstreak meta, with Cluster Strikes, Precision Airstrikes and UAVs being the only options available in the Buy Stations — the same three that were offered at launch back in March. Although some players have spotted that Counter UAVs flew under the radar in a recent patch, with the radar-scrambling killstreak being available after calling in four UAVs simultaneously. The killstreak is a literal game-changer, as players on the receiving end find that their minimap is temporarily concealed, meaning that they can no longer spot the location of Verdansk’s vicious gas. Although there is one major caveat… the killstreak will set you back a whopping $16,000 by the time you’ve purchased all four UAVs necessary. Although, a leak suggests that Counter UAVs could soon be coming to Buy Stations — and will be much more affordable. According to the Reddit user, the killstreak will set players back just $500 more than the recon alternative. Meaning that providing players can get $4,500 in the bank, they’ll be able to wreak havoc on their opponents’ radar. Of course, this will be a much more viable alternative to combining four UAVs… Although, should the leak hold substance, then Recon Contracts will be much more valuable during the early stages of a game, as there’s no doubt that minimaps will be scrambled for a good portion of the match. It goes without saying that the leak should be taken with a pinch of salt until something is officially announced. With that said, should the leak prove to be true, we’ll most likely see the killstreak added as part of the mid-season update (expected on July 7).

Warzone: How to turn off jump scares in The Haunting – Dexerto
Warzone: How to turn off jump scares in The Haunting ActivisionTurning off jump scares in Warzone’s Haunting event is simple but easy to miss. Here is everything you need to know about avoiding the controversial feature. Warzone’s always popular Haunting event is back for a limited time. This year’s iteration gets in the spooky spirit by calling for outside help from other iconic franchises. Players have the opportunity to dress up for Halloween as Alucard, Ash Williams, and Skeletor, among others, as new operators. And the Season 6 Battle Pass adds the cult favorite superhero, Spawn. If that wasn’t enough, squads can also go up against Diablo 4 mini-boss Butcher as part of Operation Nightmare. Community members praised the event but have “one big issue with The Haunting.” Every lootable container across Al Mazrah and Vondel has the potential to set off a jump scare. A large hallucination flashes on the screen alongside a loud sound. Players called for the feature to be removed, but fortunately, they can take action into their own hands. How to turn off jump scares in Warzone It’s scary enough getting fired at unexpectedly in Warzone, but adding jump scares to the equation has caused headaches for the player base. Raven Software has already released an update to reduce the frequency of jump scares found in loot containers in Warzone. In The Haunting blog, the devs announced that more types of jump scares will be added throughout the event. If you would rather avoid getting scared out of your chair, here is a simple step-by-step guide to turn off the feature. Go to the Battle Pass tab – Select no Tricks, just treats, and turn them off – However, some players have reported that jump scares still occasionally occur even if you turn jump scares off. If you miss-clicked the first go around or eventually change your mind, you can switch jump scares on or off in the Battle Pass tab in the top left corner. For more, make sure to check out the rest of our Warzone Haunting coverage.

Warzone: How to open the Red Room in Rebirth Island – Dexerto
Warzone: How to open the Red Room in Rebirth Island ActivisionThe return of Rebirth Island in Warzone has seen the return of the enigmatic Red Room, so here is everything you need to know about it, how to unlock it, and what you can get from it. When the beloved Rebirth Island returned to Warzone in Season 3, it brought with it one of its many easter eggs, the Red Room. However, with a somewhat new version of Rebirth in the game, some things have changed with the Red Room. Instead of the old easter egg hunts, opening the Red Room now involves Season 3’s new Biometric Scanners. With that being said, here is everything you need to know about the Red Room in Warzone. How to open Red Room in Rebirth Island in Warzone? You’ll first need to head to the Red Room, which is at its normal location in a building between E6 and F6. Once located, you can open the Red Room by using the Biometric Scanners dotted across the map for 27 days, according to YouTuber Geeky Pastimes. However, you don’t have to use the Biometric Scanners for 27 days consecutively, as using it every 3, 7, 12, 17, 21 and 27 days will count towards your progress of opening the room. As for rewards, the Red Room will grant access to a phone where you can get “passive funds over time in a contract”, states Geeky Pastimes. This is in contrast to previous rewards of a Blueprint like in older iterations of Rebirth Island. However, if you haven’t gained all the rewards from the Biometrics Scanners dotted around Rebirth, you will also get them in addition to opening the Red Room, which included the “Welcome to the Mainframe” camo on day 27.

How to invite friends in Warzone 2: Social menu bug now fixed – Dexerto
How to invite friends in Warzone 2: Social menu bug now fixed Activision BlizzardWarzone 2’s initially broken Social menu has seemingly been fixed as players can now invite friends to join their game without issue. Here’s how it’s done. The newly released Warzone 2 was always going to launch with a few problems in tow, such is the nature of online games. One issue especially troubling users early on was the Social menu, which allows players to check on their friends’ statuses and join games. Throughout the first 24 hours, clicking on the Social tab kicked users back to Warzone 2’s main menu. While it was especially frustrating at the time, players soon uncovered a workaround before developers rolled out a proper fix. How to invite friends in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Typically, inviting friends should prove a fairly simple process. When things work as intended, players should open the Social menu where friends will appear as either “Activision friends” or “friends on your current platform.” Bringing in preferred teammates from other platforms requires users to perform the following tasks: Open the Social tab – Click Invite Friends from the Friends tab – Got to Enter Activision Account to send an invite – Then, enter the friend’s Activision ID – How to fix Warzone 2’s Social menu glitch The Warzone 2 hashtag on Twitter was filled with reports of the Social menu simply not working across launch day. While the issue has seemingly been resolved as of November 17, should the problem arise once again, there’s a fix that players can use to resolve the issue. Those who want to invite friends must create select the “Channels” tab, create a channel, then have people join in. Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is now live across PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S platforms.

Warzone High Trip event: Start date, limited-time mode, more – Dexerto
Warzone High Trip event: Start date, limited-time mode, more ActivisionWarzone’s limited-time 4/20 event is fast approaching, and High Trip is set to take over the battle royale, so here is all you need to know. Call of Duty is truly diving deep into its 4/20 event as MW3 and Warzone ramp up the celebrations with Snoop Dogg and Cheech & Chong getting their own skins, amongst some other dank limited-time events. So here is all you need to know about Warzone’s High Trip event. Warzone High Trip start date Warzone’s High Trip is starting on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, according to the in-game timer in the events tab. This is also the same time MW3’s 4/20 event, Blaze Up, is starting. The devs has yet to officially confirm when the event is ending, but considering its 4/20 theme, and that skin bundles related to the theme are releasing on April 20, it will at least run till then. Warzone High Trip event explained Despite the event fast approaching, the devs have been reticent on details about the event so far. In CoD’s Season 3 blog, they shared a brief description of the event. “Jump into this limited-time event and get ready for some heightened fights. Collect gummies to sharpen your scenes and smoke out the competition,” the blog reads. So it’s unclear what the event will entail, but based on the summary players will be able to collect “gummies” around the map and get abilities. Although, we don’t know if it’s going to be a separate LTM or added to the main battle royale modes. But we will update you here when we know more. Warzone High Trip rewards The rewards for Warzone’s High Trip have yet to be revealed, however, most limited-time events will usually have a plethora of challenges and rewards for players to complete and earn. In most events, cosmetics like unique event Blueprints, camos, or stickers, can be expected to be earned from the event. However, we will update you here when the event gets underway and we know more about it.

Warzone hero makes hacker rage quit after epic riot shield 1v1 – Dexerto
Warzone hero makes hacker rage quit after epic riot shield 1v1 ActivisionA Warzone player put his riot shield skills to the test in a match-clinching one-on-one against a hacker who tried to steal a win in the final moments. Hackers in Warzone are always annoying to deal with, with aimbot, wall hacks and other cheats that just make them un-fun to play against. One player, however, decided he wasn’t going to take it anymore and beat a cheater straight up in an epic confrontation where good triumphed over evil. In a video posted to Reddit by content creator ‘ritorhymes,’ Rito and his squad probably felt like victory was within their grasp with just a single team remaining on Rebirth Resurgence. Despite the mega man advantage, a hacker began making short work of Rito’s teammates, killing them one by one like a Predator in the jungles. As such, what seemed like a clear-cut victory turned into a nightmare with the hacker killing each of Rhymes’ teammates twice, including one who was bought back. With the circle closing in, Rhymes needed to work fast and confronted the hacker in a final battle that surely Disney is trying to secure the movie rights to as we speak. Thanks to some help from his riot shield, gas grenades, and thermite, the Warzone player was able to down the hacker, who then ended up rage quitting before he could be finished off. In an email to Dexerto, Rhymes explained that he’s able to confront and beat hackers consistently thanks to his loadout and tactics. “Use the Amped perk to minimize the time your shield is lowered and vulnerable when throwing tacticals or lethal,” he advised. “Thermites are one of the quickest lethals you can throw (therefore least risky), but when you stick an enemy, the damage is so slow you’ll need to keep your shield up afterwards blocking shots until the target is downed or they might end up downing you.” “If they continuously fire at your shield, try to catch them on the reload and be ready to switch your weapon quickly to fire,” he added, but noted that above all else, having a balance between being quick and patient is key to fighting cheaters. Just goes to show that cheaters aren’t invincible. Just remember, if they bleed, you can kill them.

Warzone Heavy Armor Public Event explained – Dexerto
Warzone Heavy Armor Public Event explained ActivisionWarzone Season 3 Reloaded is bringing along the new Heavy Armor Public Event as a way to shake up your matches. So here is everything you need to know about the in-game event. As CoD gears up for Season 3 Reloaded’s massive content drop, we’ve already got a look into what’s coming in Warzone, from the return of the Weapon Trade Station, the new Field Upgrade Utility Boxes, and even a change in the time of day on Rebirth Island. And also part of the massive update is the arrival of the new Heavy Armor Public Event. So here is everything you need to know about the event in Warzone. What is the Heavy Armor Public Event in Warzone? The Heavy Armor Public Event is a new event that can occur at infil in which the maximum number of plates that can be equipped will be increased by one. This means when the event is active, players can equip up to four plates, increasing their Armor HP up by 50. With the change, it should increase time-to-kill and add a new variety to the gameplay. The event will only be available on Rebirth Island, however, it’s not guaranteed to happen in every playthrough as the event will be a “rare occurrence” according to the devs. At the start of the match, every player is automatically awarded with both the additional armor slot and with three of their four slots already full. However, there is an exception for players that are running the Tempered Perk. Instead, they will only have three armor slots, with two already being filled and the third empty. Each Armor Plate will give 66.7 HP instead of the usual 50. The extra armor slot will be applied to all types of vests, which are; Standard 3-plate, Communications Vest, Medic Vest, Stealth Vest, and Tempered Plate Carrier.

Warzone Heartbeat Sensor bug freezes the game completely – Dexerto
Warzone Heartbeat Sensor bug freezes the game completely Activision[jwplayer SmN5cmUl]A strange bug in Warzone is causing Heartbeat Sensors to freeze player’s games, often making them lose gunfights or affecting gameplay for an entire match. In Warzone, the Heartbeat Sensor is almost an essential piece of equipment when picking up your loadout drop. Filling in the Tactical Gear slot, it makes much more sense to carry one of these than, say, a Flash or Stun Grenade, each of which are only a one-time use item. While using it, you can plan out attacks by seeking out enemy locations, but with the abundance of Ghost users, it is often rendered obsolete anyway. That said, you would still like the option to carry one just in case, but it might not be possible for much longer if this bug persists in the game. As shown by Leeuwarden-HF in a July 9 Reddit post, the Heartbeat Sensor is causing the game to freeze when they pull it out, looking like a serious bout of lag spikes if not just a broken game. As you can see, as soon as they hit LB to bring the Heartbeat Sensor out, the game freezes completely, and in the next few seconds the player is jotting all over the place with no real control before his game finally recovers. As Leeuwarden says, they’ve been facing the issue for about a week, which could correspond roughly with the June 29 update that brought a number of weapon balancing updates to the game. It appears that the bug is not a one-off, either, judging by the responses in the post. One user said that it “usually happens the first time, but better after that,” while another said that it “happens every now and again but when it happens it makes it unusable in that game.” It’s fair to say that while this issue doesn’t seem to be massively widespread, with no real reason behind it either, users might want to opt for an alternative to the Heartbeat Sensor to save some aggravating losses and gunfights. Whether or not this is on Infinity Ward’s radar remains to be seen. Regardless, it’s something that will need fixing soon, especially with how common Heartbeat Sensors are, and it is literally ruining the game experience for some.

Warzone HDR TikTok loadout could replace the Kar98k after Season 3 nerfs – Dexerto
Warzone HDR TikTok loadout could replace the Kar98k after Season 3 nerfs ActivisionThis HDR loadout from TikTok has made a huge splash in Warzone after the Kar98k saw a significant nerf in the Season 3 Classified Arms update. If you’re looking to get back to collecting one-shot kills in a hurry, this is the right build for you. It’s no secret that just about every Sniper Rifle saw a nerf in the Season 3 update. Between damage ranges getting dropped and certain guns losing their one-shot potential altogether, fans have had a tough time replacing their old favorites. So far the ZRG has been the most popular new choice, but this HDR will absolutely give that Cold War build a run for its money thanks to a nearly unrecognizable ADS speed. TikTok’s Warzone HDR loadout The HDR was a meta choice for a time back in the early days of the game, but as gameplay got faster, a slower scope-in speed always kept it struggling to make it back to the top. It’s still not quite as fast as the old Kar98k setup but the difference is minimal when fighting at medium-to-long ranges. As you might expect, up-close gunfights are still the bane of this gun’s existence, so it’s important to be prepared to handle that. That means you’ll likely need to run an SMG as your secondary if you want to maximize loadout efficiency, but there are plenty of options keep to you safe on that front this season. There is still time for the meta to shake up before Season 3 Reloaded arrives later this summer, but for now, enjoy picking off unsuspecting enemies with one of Warzone’s most reliable guns.

Warzone Halloween bundles leaked: Texas Chainsaw Massacre & Saw packs – Dexerto
Warzone Halloween bundles leaked: Texas Chainsaw Massacre & Saw packs ActivisionHalloween is fast approaching, and some spooky new cosmetics have leaked, bringing two of the biggest ever horror franchises to Modern Warfare & Warzone with Saw and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. [jwplayer L7zZP3SQ] For seasonal celebrations, we’ll often see Call of Duty implement fitting changes to its games, with new items or game modes for occasions such as Christmas or, in this instance Halloween. It’s no different this year, as Halloween is hot on everyone’s minds, and it looks like you’re going to be able to mark the occasion by dressing up as some of the most iconic characters in horror. Not to mention bringing a fresh load of cosmetics such as calling cards and stickers to your inventory. If you’re a horror fan, particularly of the Saw franchise and Texas Chainsaw Massacre, you might want to have a look at what’s in store. The following cosmetics popped up on the reliable COD Tracker website, which automatically pulls different bundles, weapons and more as soon as they’re added into the Modern Warfare and Warzone data, that isn’t always immediately available to regular customers. There are apparently 27 cosmetic bundles following the October 13 update, with many of them based around the Halloween theme, but the two that stand out are the Saw and Texas Chainsaw Massacre Operator Packs. Both will be available for 2,400 CoD Points whenever they drop. As with most Operator Packs, each of these will provide an Operator skin, a new melee weapon, gun blueprints, sprays, calling cards and more — take a look at what’s available in each below. ….these two bundles were added to the Modern Warfare and Warzone game files following the newest update. 😳 (@CODTracker) pic.twitter.com/WcmF7cij7g — CharlieIntel (@charlieINTEL) October 14, 2020 There isn’t yet a date set for when these bundles will become available, but with Halloween barely weeks away, expect to see them appear in the store sooner rather than later. There will also be a number of free Halloween bundles during the Haunting of Verdansk event if these leaks are anything to go by, so you can get in on the action even if you don’t want to spend money on the Saw or Texas Chainsaw Massacre packs, so keep one eye on the store over the next couple of weeks.

Warzone Halloween bug literally twists player into levitating “Exorcist” creature – Dexerto
Warzone Halloween bug literally twists player into levitating “Exorcist” creature Activision / Hoya ProductionsCall of Duty: Warzone’s Halloween Haunting event’s bugs are truly living up to the spooky spirit. A new glitch is turning players into levitating, physically deformed embodiments from “The Exorcist.” “The Exorcist” is a 1973 horror film about a little girl who becomes possessed by a demon. It is from 1973 so no, there will be no spoiler alerts here. Being possessed by a demon, the little girl did weird stuff and was very creepy. One such spooky move is known as the “spider crawl.” It doesn’t sound like the type of thing CoD players need to worry about, but apparently it is. As shared to Twitter, there’s a new Warzone bug during the Season 6 Halloween Haunting event. A creepy glitch, much like the last spooky deformed bug, it causes players to re-deploy in some sort of levitating, spider crawl animation. Warzone’s Halloween Haunting “Exorcist” bug As you can see in the clip, ‘Rodallday23’ is already in the Halloween spirit. They try to play as Jigsaw, but find themselves seemingly possessed by a demon — re-deploying in full spider crawl formation. Saying “um, fellas, we have a problem,” Rodallday seemed confused but not too freaked out. That’s a good thing, although probably explained by the lack of projectile vomiting and other spooky behavior. The infamous “Exorcist” Spider Crawl It’s a weird glitch that led to Rod’s death in the game, as someone shot down the possessed Jigsaw casually. He couldn’t even stop levitating in order to secure a loadout, so it’s most definitely on the game-breaking side of things. On the plus side though, compared to the actual exorcised girl in 1973 — this bug is relatively tame. No blood, no urine, just an unfortunate Warzone player trying to touch the ground. At the moment, one has to imagine that this is, in fact, a glitch. But who knows, maybe the “Scream” and “Donnie Darko” skins just weren’t enough for the devs and they decided to toss in some other references as well.

Warzone hacking apparently rising as cheaters find way to escape bans – Dexerto
Warzone hacking apparently rising as cheaters find way to escape bans Infinity Ward[jwplayer mCpsAxNx]The hacking problem in Call of Duty: Warzone appears to have resurged over the past couple of weeks as cheaters are circumventing Infinity Ward’s two-factor authentication protective measures. On May 12, CoD’s developers threw a then-thriving hacker community into disarray by levying a ton of shadowbans and requiring two-factor SMS verification for PC players. But, over a month later, desperate cheaters appear to have discovered workarounds—annoying a player base that would prefer competitive integrity. Cronus Anti-Recoil vs actual recoil.. unbelievable that ppl use this shit in competitions pic.twitter.com/crRXOChtho — Skadezy 𝕏 (@Skadezy) June 19, 2020 The Cronus Anti-Recoil Mod, discovered on June 19, was a major concern to players and professionals alike since it is usable on consoles and can’t be detected by anti-cheat programs. But its usage is limited, and it is restricted to less sophisticated hacks than the ones most popular on PC. Of greater concern is the recent rise in PC hacking, which had dropped substantially following May’s shadowbans and verification deterrents. Reddit user ‘aur0n,’ at this point turning into one of the community’s most helpful contributors, revealed that this rise in cheating can be attributed to cheap SMS two-step bypassing options. What aur0n discovered is a service that provides non-shadow banned accounts for just $2 apiece, with cheaper rates when players purchase these accounts in bulk. Hackers are already willing to spend over $100 on some of the more sophisticated scripts, so these prices are absolutely negligible for an opportunity to use these high-end cheats. This exemplifies exactly why many consider the relationship between game developers and trolls to be an arms race. Anti-cheating measures may be implemented, but their efficacy becomes temporary as bypassing techniques are created. Across the internet, Warzone players are now complaining that hacks are ruining their games. Most recently, the Dallas Empire’s Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter brought the issue to light with a clip showing what he called a “spinbot,” but what is more likely a PC aimbot with a very wide FOV. Spinbots in Call of Duty now…. so much for Anti-Cheat pic.twitter.com/ct4Vbg47TU — FaZe Crimsix (@Crimsix) June 27, 2020 In the replies, others shared similar clips with ridiculously unfair hacks ruining their gameplay experiences. While Crimsix and many are able to laugh these off, the rage will only increase should Infinity Ward not nip this problem in the bud sooner than later. Like the last major anti-cheating wave, it’s very possible that developers are secretly dealing with the issue and will announce another set of bans without any prior warning. But, given how easy account creation is, the community will likely remain dissatisfied until IW institutes new detection programs or more efficient reporting processes.

Warzone hacking accuser somehow tricked into accusing himself of cheating – Dexerto
Warzone hacking accuser somehow tricked into accusing himself of cheating YouTube, HeaddbandThe Warzone community is filled with people that are working toward eliminating all the hackers from the game. One hacker accuser was tricked into accusing himself of cheating after looking at his own gameplay. While cheaters run loose on the streets of Verdansk, there are some people that spend their days trying to find out which streamers are part of this treacherous group. In the midst of BadBoy Beaman calling out Warzone player ZLaner for being a hacker, one person thought it would be a good idea to try and fool another Warzone accuser that thinks the streamer cheats. This person sent a clip to a watchdog that seemed fine, but the accuser went ahead and claimed that this was further proof of ZLaner cheating. Little did he know the clip of ZLaner was actually his own gameplay. Warzone hack accuser reviews own gameplay and calls cheats One of Warzone’s watchdogs, Headdband, spends his days reviewing different clips of players and breaking down if they’re a hacker or not. While the ZLaner hackusation drama was going on Headdband sent a tweet stating he has tons of evidence of the streamer cheating. Twitter user ‘corybeaver04’ wanted to play along and sent this clip to Headdband about how ZLaner’s aim locks onto people. @Headdband honestly, starting to have my suspicions confirmed. Watched some of your videos and paid closer attention to Zlaner and then found this clip and slowed it down. Tell me, how is this “aim” natural? Look how it sticks and jitters around with the player model pic.twitter.com/4cmw4EfI4N — Dr. CNBeaver (@corybeaver04) September 30, 2021 While the clip seems fine, when zoomed in the person was saying that it looks fishy. Headdband agreed but what he didn’t realize was this was his own gameplay. In a since-deleted tweet, Headdband replied to the video and said, “What a d**ning clip. Great eye man. Not natural at all.” Accusing, what he thought was ZLaner of hacking, but in reality, calling himself out. This is the gameplay and comment I left him and then his now deleted comment. He looked at his own gameplay and because he thought it was ZLaner, said it was a damning clip against Z and not natural at all. When in reality it’s just how the game looks when you zoom and slow down. pic.twitter.com/sVTq4izjK6 — Dr. CNBeaver (@corybeaver04) September 30, 2021 This had the community rolling, as a Warzone watchdog just accused themself of cheating. While Headdband deleted his initial reply calling the gameplay sketchy, he did go on to defend himself. When another person commented on the clip saying there was nothing skeptical about it, Headdband replied saying he was obviously being sarcastic. He also added that he was manipulated and nothing was to be taken seriously. There is no way to actually know if his comment was a joke but the community had some fun as they feel watchdogs are wasting their time and gameplay always looks weird when slowed down and zoomed in.

Warzone hackers take flying car cheat too far on Rebirth Island – Dexerto
Warzone hackers take flying car cheat too far on Rebirth Island ActivisionWarzone hackers discovered a way to fly cars through the sky, but they may have taken it too far, as a clip on Rebirth Island shows pure pandemonium when a SUV chases down a helicopter. Hacking has been a lingering problem in Warzone ever since its release in 2020. From giving out free camos to aim botting on stream, these cheaters have been doing it all. Even though Raven Software has introduced the RICOCHET anti-cheat, hackers are still finding ways to ruin matches. With the latest coming in the form of flying cars, hackers have taken this to another level on Rebirth Island in one of the most chaotic things you’ll ever see. Warzone hackers fly car into helicopter on Rebirth Island Warzone streamer FaZe Scope was playing a Rebirth match when he recorded what some are calling the craziest thing in Warzone. In the video, a hacker is flying around in a normal car but this time they are literally taking down a helicopter from the sky. You hear Scope laughing and screaming as the SUV comes soaring toward him, “What the F**k, OH MY…” This may be the most extreme version of this hack that the Warzone community has seen so far. While cars were being used to blast enemies from above, they are now anti-helicopter vehicles. Fans had a ball with this as many people were remixing this with different audio themes. We’ve embedded some of the community’s favorite down below, starting with a trip to Hogwarts. Volume Warning A voice actor even narrated over the clip sounding like David Attenborough from Planet Earth. David Attenborough narrates flying car in warzone pic.twitter.com/YTnVlxglhT — Scheiffer Bates (@ScheifferBates) January 27, 2022 Of course, we can’t forget Ms. Frizzle and her class. Volume Warning Nobody else has done it yet so I did it myself pic.twitter.com/1hosYb81yw — DemiGodZelus (@DemiGodZelus) January 27, 2022 Other people couldn’t figure out the ground between laughing and wondering what was happening. One sarcastically said, “Perfectly normal, nothing strange here,” while another wasn’t happy to see this, “Bruh, these cheaters are getting out of hand.” The good news for players is Season 2 was delayed so the devs could work on fixes for the game. So hopefully, hackers won’t be able to take the wheels off the ground in the future.

Warzone hackers reportedly reversing RICOCHET Anti-Cheat after leak – Dexerto
Warzone hackers reportedly reversing RICOCHET Anti-Cheat after leak Activision / PixabayCall of Duty’s new anti-cheat, RICOCHET, was unveiled on October 13 and, within a day, Warzone hackers are reportedly reversing it after a major leak of the kernel-level driver’s files. Warzone has been a hacker paradise since release with the battle royale plagued by cheaters hellbent on ruining matches with aimbots, wallhacks and other nefarious tools. With CoD: Vanguard on the way, Activision have unveiled their upcoming anti-cheat RICOCHET to combat the waves of troublemakers making Warzone and other games a nightmare. According to the watchdog group Anti-Cheat Police Department, Activision finally had a fighting chance against hackers with RICOCHET, but a leaked kernel-level driver may lose them the war before it even begins. Unfortunately, the kernel driver for @CallofDuty new Anti-cheat called RICOCHET got leaked today, and P2C devs are already reversing it, this is already very bad. pic.twitter.com/Vb8f3eXx5b — Anti-Cheat Police Department 🕵️ (@AntiCheatPD) October 14, 2021 RICOCHET Kernel-level driver leaked In a screenshot posted by Anti-cheat Police Department, hackers are already in the process of reversing RICOCHET after the driver was leaked. “P2C devs are already reversing it, this is already very bad,” the group warned. If RICOCHET is already being dissected, hackers will have a head start in preparing for the launch of Vanguard and the anti-cheat’s implementation into Warzone. it is accordingly the same as a @equ8anticheat driver they took all the stuff they did and added more user information which is probably for their HWID banning system this kernel driver will be easily bypassed, the thing that worries me the most is the weak protection they have. — Anti-Cheat Police Department 🕵️ (@AntiCheatPD) October 14, 2021 To make matters worse, speaking with a reverse engineer, it was determined that the driver is “nothing that special” and wasn’t well protected. “This kernel driver will be easily bypassed, the thing that worries me the most is the weak protection they have,” the watchdog group added. Cheat developers are not afraid of the RICOCHET Anti-cheat, and to be fair most cheats already operate at the kernel level for a very long time, it is down to the developers at Ricochet if they have the skills to detect these cheats now, the playing ground is now even pic.twitter.com/Xb7OFflbi2 — Anti-Cheat Police Department 🕵️ (@AntiCheatPD) October 13, 2021 Warzone hackers not afraid of RICOCHET In forum posts shared by Anti-Cheat PD, cheat sellers explained how there wouldn’t be a price increase and that existing products will support Vanguard and Warzone despite RICOCHET’s implementation. “Cheat developers are not afraid of the RICOCHET Anti-cheat, and to be fair most cheats already operate at the kernel level for a very long time,” the group wrote. “It is down to the developers at RICOCHET if they have the skills to detect these cheats now, the playing ground is now even.” It remains to be seen how serious this leak will be and if it will drastically affect the course of Vanguard’s launch. Of course, hackers don’t play by the rules to begin with, so it will be interesting to see how Activision respond and if they have another trick up their sleeves leading up to launch. At the moment, nothing is confirmed so we’ll be monitoring the situation closely.

Warzone hackers now using in-game leaderboards to promote cheating websites – Dexerto
Warzone hackers now using in-game leaderboards to promote cheating websites ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone’s hacker problem has hit the highest of highs, after reaching the lowest of lows, as players are fed up with the lack of response to the in-game wins leaderboards — which now advertise a number of cheating sites. If you asked the Warzone community (and specifically the game’s streamers and highest-K/D players) what the game’s biggest problem is, the vast majority would say hacking. Cheaters ruin games and, unsurprisingly, normal players don’t appreciate that. So, you can imagine how annoyed gamers are that… not only has the title been unable to decrease the hacking situation, but its in-game leaderboard may literally be increasing them. As posted by OPMarked, one of Warzone’s highest-winning players, the in-game leaderboard is filled with obvious cheaters. And, even worse, a bunch of them are using that space as free advertisements for their websites. Hey @RavenSoftware I know this is the bottom of your priority list but I think it would be such an easy fix there are only 3 legit players in the top 20 of your leaderboards. They are getting free advertisement and we arent doing anything about it. Can we get a response at least? pic.twitter.com/p920CBpzoH — Jake (@OPMarked) September 23, 2021 As you can see in his tweet, the leaderboard has some streamers in the 10-20 range that are known for getting wins. Guys like OPMarked, Its_Iron, and ShadedStep all slot into the top 20 with over 3,700 wins in Verdansk. But the top nine all have over… 386 million wins? Warzone released on March 10, 2020 and the game’s legitimate winners haven’t hit 10,000 wins — yet there are people in the millions. Something doesn’t add up. Most annoyingly though, these cheaters are mentioning various hack websites with their usernames (alongside some generally bigoted ones, which should also be removed). This is Just Sad, Maybe at the integration? 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ https://t.co/4gWZMSXlwM — James – JGOD (@JGODYT) September 23, 2021 With big Warzone figures like JGOD calling this “sad” and other replies dubbing it “pathetic,” it’s clear that the community isn’t pleased with the state of affairs. Many noted that CoD leaderboards have often been filled with hackers, but the situation nonetheless feels worse given Warzone’s cheater-filled context. As JGOD mentions, maybe this situation can be remedied when Vanguard integration happens (at which point these cheating websites will also, hopefully, be rendered useless). For now, though, the leaderboards aren’t even on Raven Software’s Trello board for issues to fix — so OPMarked is likely right: this isn’t a high priority for them. It might not even be a priority at all.

Warzone hackers now have full-auto rocket launchers and there’s nothing you can do – Dexerto
Warzone hackers now have full-auto rocket launchers and there’s nothing you can do ActivisionWarzone hackers have gotten their hands on unreleased attachments with “rocket bullets” in the latest enigma plaguing the battle royale. Like many modern live service titles, Warzone is no stranger to cheaters or hackers. Yet, wild phenomena such as flying vehicles and disappearing helicopters have left players utterly speechless and frustrated with RICOCHET, the in-game anti-cheat system. The hackers have seemingly taken another leap forward, as Warzone is now populated by players using an unreleased attachment that shoots explosive rounds. Shared to the Warzone subreddit, one player was left helpless as a hacker peppered them with explosive rounds akin to the firepower of a Mortar Strike. In the second portion of the clip, the player picked up the MORS sniper rifle with an unreleased camo that also had explosive rounds similar to the Pack-A-Punched version of the sniper. A person in the replies to the above clip identified the weapon, claiming it’s from the yet-to-be-released MW3 Arcade mode. As the name implies, this mode will introduce wacky powerups such as explosive rounds to the MORS and the Riveter shotgun. However, the player who posted the clip also mentioned that they’ve seen explosive rounds with other weapons. “Had a guy with an AR 60 round clapping me and my teammates’ cheeks,” they shared. In all fairness, the “hacker” in the first clip replied to the above post, stating their teammate was a hacker, and sharing an apology. “Hello, that’s me. I’m so sorry for killing you. I’m not a cheater, I play on Xbox. However, I was queued up with a teammate who was a hacker and in fact, pinged me those guns! Sorry, I used it against you,” they said. This incident joins the large list of frustrations Warzone players have with Richocet.

Warzone hackers mock Activision with ridiculous TikTok clips before anti-cheat launch – Dexerto
Warzone hackers mock Activision with ridiculous TikTok clips before anti-cheat launch ActivisionWith Call of Duty Warzone’s anti-cheat RICOCHET not arriving until Vanguard is out, hackers are upping the ante and posting some of the most insane cheat clips we’ve ever seen to TikTok. Hackers have plagued Warzone since the battle royale’s release, frequently ruining games for streamers, pros and pretty much anyone brave enough to compete with crossplay enabled. Now, with anti-cheat finally on the horizon and the potential for Activision to finally be on even footing in their battle against the hacker menace, cheaters are pulling out all the stops to show how insane their programs really are. In a series of TikTok clips, nefarious cheaters are seen abusing wallhacks and aimbots to great effect, killing players throughout the map. Warzone hackers post TikTok clips One video, which had been viewed over 70,000 times, shows a cheater using “magnetic bullets” in combination with an aimbot to kill multiple players in mere seconds. In another, a cheater uses a wallhack and aimbot to mow through squads, but their “gameplay” was roasted in the comments. “He lucky that aimbot saves him cos he would miss everything literally he can’t even track them with his mouse,” a user blasted him. “Y’all hackers will be done on the 5th of November good luck,” another chimed in, referencing RICOCHET coming with Vanguard. It remains to be seen if Activision’s new anti-cheat will successfully turn the tide against cheaters. In October, RICOCHET was leaked and hackers began reversing it in preparation for its implementation. Whether or not significant damage to RICOCHET was already done is anyone’s guess and we won’t know for sure until the anti-cheat matches up against cheaters in a real setting. In the meantime, expect more cheaters to keep posting outrageous clips to social media, especially if they feel their time is numbered until RICOCHET arrives.

Warzone hackers meet streamer demands by adding “flying cars” to the game – Dexerto
Warzone hackers meet streamer demands by adding “flying cars” to the game ActivisionFlying cars are now a real thing to be cautious of in Warzone. After popular streamers like FaZe Kalei ‘requested’ the feature, hackers met their demands and fundamentally changed the game. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, after months of terrorizing Warzone with their aimbots and wallhacks, cheaters have now done the unthinkable: Flying cars are real and they will haunt your dreams. Hackers have now developed the tools to launch their vehicles sky-high. At any given moment, they can soar into the air and gain an outrageous advantage over everyone else in the lobby. Not only do they provide a full view of the map, but they also have the ability to lock on, no different from an aimbot. This means a motorbike or a truck could genuinely crash down from the heavens and wipe out your entire squad in an instant. While this may seem like a novel idea, amusingly enough, it was actually spurred on by the Warzone community. “I wanna see flying cars next,” FaZe Clan star KaleiRenay joked in a September 5 tweet. Three days later, hackers met her demands. It took barely any time for Warzone’s finest cheaters to rise to the challenge. Flying vehicles are in effect and those with access can outright dominate any match without having to leave the seat of their car. Read More: Every CoD Vanguard killstreak – Theoretically, hackers can now win a game of Warzone without having to fire a single bullet. Instead, their magical vehicles of destruction can do all the damage for them. If this astounding hack took just three days to develop, it makes you wonder what else is possible. When cheaters set their minds to it, it almost seems as though there’s nothing they can’t do in Warzone. Read More: CoD Vanguard Beta impressions – We’ve already seen them gifting max-ranked accounts to popular streamers, and even playing with unreleased skins. Now, we have flying vehicles to worry about each time we drop into Verdansk.

Warzone hackers make Rebirth Island “unplayable” with Season 6 cheats – Dexerto
Warzone hackers make Rebirth Island “unplayable” with Season 6 cheats ActivisionWarzone players have been left furious as hackers have once again reared their heads in Season 6, seemingly taking over Rebirth Island games in the process. It’s been well documented just how much Warzone has struggled with the hacking epidemic. Despite Raven Software dishing out countless waves of bans, some players have just had enough and taken their talents elsewhere. Plenty of players have soldiered on regardless, continuing to drop into the Call of Duty battle royale. For many of these, Rebirth Island provided a bit of a safe haven as, while cheaters could be found in matches, they weren’t as common as they were in Verdansk. However, with the new Season 6 update, that seems to have changed as hackers have seemingly infested Rebirth matches now too. Since the Season 6 update dropped on October 7, hackers have been flexing their might, but it’s not just been with the usual aimbots, wallhacks, or silent shots. Some have even been using unreleased Halloween skins and advertising their cheats on the leaderboards. For some normal players, this has made the game just “unplayable,” especially as cheaters have become increasingly common in Rebirth lobbies too. “It’s honestly unplayable right now, we played 4 games and 3 had the most obvious hackers in the world, it’s f**king stupid,” said one fan. “Ran into multiple Ghost Face skins on rebirth last night. I say 5 games in a row at one point. Unreal,” commented another. “Rebirth is even worse than normal Warzone,” added another. An apparent increase in hackers at the start of a new season is nothing new, it’s been happening for a while thanks to free hack trials that some cheat sellers have been handing out. The rise of cheaters on Rebirth is, however, and that’s what’s got players annoyed as their safe haven has been infected. It remains to be seen if Raven or Activision can do anything about it any time soon.

Warzone hackers are flying cars again as new cheats arrive in Caldera – Dexerto
Warzone hackers are flying cars again as new cheats arrive in Caldera ActivisionFlying cars are once again back in Warzone as hackers have cracked into the Season 1 code and brought the classic exploit to Caldera. Every player has encountered their fair share of game-breaking cheats over the years in Warzone. Whether it’s perfect aim, tracking through the map, or even using custom Operator skins, hackers have always found a way to flip the battle royale on its head. While RICOCHET is trying to stamp out those intentionally ruining the game, even disabling damage on certain accounts, it hasn’t stopped one iconic cheat from making a surprise return. Four months after hackers responded to a dare and actually found a way to make cars fly, the issue is now back for another round in Caldera. I GUESS THERES FLYING CARS WITH CHEATERS ON THEM LMFALFJMKSAJGFKNGKNG pic.twitter.com/0jm1n2TkUG — Thomas (@IntechsTV) January 19, 2022 In the middle of a casual Tuesday stream, Subliners star Swishem and her partner Intechs noticed something out of the ordinary. Despite hiding behind a tree to avoid incoming fire, a car soared overhead and gunned her down from above. “The f**king car’s flying, and there’s a cheater on it,” her teammate yelled as the squad went down. Hackers have once again figured out a way to lift vehicles off the ground in Warzone. As one player managed to pilot the car, another stood in the back locking onto targets without missing a shot. “These hackers are having the time of their life,” Swishem joked. “Imagine the car playing music and they’re just killing everyone from the sky. [They] got the unreleased Harry Potter bundle.” With these cheats combined, there’s seemingly nothing that could have stopped them from dominating the lobby. bro these hackers are having the time of their life rn standing on top of a car destroying the whole lobby, imagine the car playing music and they’re just killing everyone from the sky 😭😭😭 mfs got the unreleased Harry Potter bundle 💀 pic.twitter.com/OLoHPt6zt6 — NYSL Swish (@Swishem) January 19, 2022 There’s no telling just how this particular exploit was revived in Warzone. Warzone hackers are now flooding Verdansk with unreleased Zombie Dark Aether camos – Dexerto
Warzone hackers are now flooding Verdansk with unreleased Zombie Dark Aether camos ActivisionWarzone’s hacking crisis has reached new levels in Season 4, with cheaters now terrorizing Verdansk with unreleased Zombies Dark Aether weapon camos. Hackers are getting more creative as Warzone’s ongoing cheating crisis runs rampant in Season 4. We’ve already seen hacked accounts using their own custom skins, but now, they’re roaming through the battle royale with unreleased weapon camos as well. When Warzone first merged with Black Ops Cold War, Treyarch confirmed that Zombies camos would be made available in the popular free-to-play title. Nine months on from Cold War’s release, however, and mastery camos like Dark Aether and Plague Diamond are still yet to be seen in Warzone. With recent leaks, players discovered these highly anticipated camos were actually present in Warzone’s files. Taking matters into their own hands, hackers have now started using these skins ahead of an official release. An hour into his August 2 Twitch stream, popular Warzone pro Repullze noticed something out of the ordinary. Dying to hackers was nothing new, but the way in which this particular hacker knocked him down was a sight to behold. A cheater by the name of ‘iUnlockStuff’ was hip firing without a care in the world. Even while aiming at the floor, they were connecting shots across the map. Regardless of where they were in the map, no one appeared to be safe. All the while, they were flaunting their cheats with an unreleased weapon camo. Their gun came equipped with a bright purple skin unlike anything available in Warzone today. That skin just so happens to be the animated Zombies Dark Aether camo Treyarch promised at the release of Cold War. Hackers may have access today but everyone else will have to continue waiting for an official release. Activision is yet to announce when Zombies camos may finally be made available in Warzone. Dexerto will update you when that changes.

Warzone hackers flex on devs using more unreleased Halloween skins early – Dexerto
Warzone hackers flex on devs using more unreleased Halloween skins early Activision, Flower FilmsWarzone lets players act out their wildest action movie dreams as Rambo and John McClane, but now hackers are flexing the Scream and Donnie Darko-inspired operators way earlier than Activision would like. We’re getting close to another season of spooks and thrills and Warzone is set to bring terror to the streets of Verdansk once again with The Haunting event arriving on October 19. To make things even more chilling, players will be able to spend their hard-earned CoD points on two new operators, in the form of Ghostface (Scream) and Frank (Donnie Darko). However, these terrifying new additions to the game have appeared earlier than expected. Hackers are flexing on Activision Dataminers accessing supposedly locked items is nothing new to Warzone, but this hasn’t stopped hackers flexing their newly acquired items on the battlefield. Operator packs normally cost between 1600 – 2400 CoD points officially, yet these players aren’t so fussed about dipping into their savings pot. While Ghostface has already been revealed within the game, some players are now taking the opportunity to revisit the world of Richard Kelly’s Donnie Darko. The 2001 psychological horror featured the presence of Frank, a manipulative figure in a bunny costume. Now, Frank is bringing his nefarious ways to Warzone. Frank isn’t the only addition making an early debut either. Another video showcases a fiery undead skeleton, that looks particularly awesome in motion. At the time of writing, it isn’t clear what bundle this spooky skeleton is from. We agree with the poster though, it is “sick AF.” The Haunting begins October 19 and will include a list of challenges to complete in true Warzone fashion, with the promise of rewards. Keep up with everything to come as Halloween draws closers.

Warzone hackers are creating their own custom Operator skins in Season 3 – Dexerto
Warzone hackers are creating their own custom Operator skins in Season 3 ActivisionWarzone’s hacking problem appears to be reaching all-new levels in Season 3 as cheating players are now dropping into Verdansk with their own custom Operator skins. Ever since Warzone’s release, there’s no denying that hackers have been a major issue. From wallhacks to aimbots and everything in between, we’ve seen all sorts of problems over the past 15 months. Despite blocking more than 500,000 accounts to date, hackers continue to find new ways to terrorize Verdansk. The latest evolution is something completely different though. Rather than focusing efforts on new tools to help them win, hackers have started developing custom skins in Warzone. You’ll be able to spot a hacking account from miles away thanks to their new designs. After playing through a standard match on June 2, Reddit user ‘jherbz87’ noticed something out of the ordinary. The winning player flew out in a helicopter while wearing a bizarre, pink suit. Bugged textures covered them head to toe as the hacker completely stood out in Verdansk. Seeing this bright figure across the map means you’ll be more than likely be downed in a matter of seconds. “Beware of pink suit hackers,” the player warned, indicating that this might not be exclusive to just one cheating player. Entire groups of Warzone hackers could be using this tactic to make themselves feared across the battle royale. There’s no telling exactly how they managed to alter a skin’s appearance, though it’s clear hackers are capable of more than just shooting impossibly straight. Many others chimed in to add that they’ve encountered similar pink skins over recent sessions. If hackers are able to change one Operator design, it’s safe to assume they could change the rest. So be on the lookout for any strange characters out in the wild. If you notice a completely original look, run for the hills and try to avoid the cheater as best you can; it’s most likely a Warzone hacker.

Warzone hackers coming to console: Anti-cheat watchdog warns hacks are evolving – Dexerto
Warzone hackers coming to console: Anti-cheat watchdog warns hacks are evolving ActivisionAn anti-cheat watchdog is warning that the next generation of console cheats will only lead to more frustration for players and developers alike in Warzone and other games. Hacks have been plaguing Warzone for a long time, with shameless aimbotters even streaming their cheats on Twitch for all to see. Now, things could be getting a lot worse with new console cheats becoming more and more popular. An anti-cheat analyst used his Anti-cheat Police Department Twitter account to spread the word about a new wave of hacks making their way to the market specifically designed for console. While console cheats aren’t exactly new, they’re a lot rarer than their PC counterparts (and typically limited to just Cronus Zen hardware), which have become a major issue in just about every game you can think of. Ladies and gentlemen, I present you the next generation of cheating now available on console, and has been for a while but lately its been becoming more popular and more of a trend, consoles are no longer a safe space to play your games legit anymore pic.twitter.com/iEQzPVFf1h — Anti-Cheat Police Department 🕵️ (@AntiCheatPD) July 5, 2021 “Ladies and gentlemen, I present you the next generation of cheating now available on console,” he said while posting a video showing off the hacks in action. “Consoles are no longer a safe space to play your games legit anymore.” Games like Warzone feature crossplay, so console players have the ability to disable it if they don’t want to deal with PC cheaters. But now, the problem has spread to console games too, meaning no one is off limits. “The cheat uses machine learning and sends input to your controller whenever it sees a valid target, this is aim assist but more amplified without you even needing to do anything all you have to do is aim in the general area and the machine will do the work for you,” he further explained. “Secondary machine the inputs are spoofed to the controller as if were a human touching it.” Is this detectable? yes, but it will be a pain for the developers to detect this it will certainly not be an easy job to detect these types of cheats, this already exists on PC but now is available in console — Anti-Cheat Police Department 🕵️ (@AntiCheatPD) July 5, 2021 What makes things worse is how difficult the analyst says this will be for developers to detect, meaning a lot more time and resources will need to go into countering these console-specific problems. Speaking with Dexerto, he noted how it wasn’t just Warzone that was in trouble, but literally any game as the hacks “can be used for any game that supports a controller.” “I just wanna raise awareness that consoles are not exempt from cheats,” he said. “It’s stupid that anybody thinks [they are].” With CoD 2021, Halo Infinite and Battlefield 2042 right around the corner, developers should be prepared to tackle these cheats head-on.

Warzone hacker’s climbing cheat exposed in 40 kill game killcam – Dexerto
Warzone hacker’s climbing cheat exposed in 40 kill game killcam ActivisionA Warzone cheater’s bizarre climbing hack was exposed for the world to see thanks to the killcam and it has left the community fearing that hackers are becoming more creative. Hackers have been around since Warzone inception and while Activision has stepped up their fight against cheaters with Richochet anti-cheat, not all end up getting detected. As the war with cheaters wages, it seems like hackers have had to get a bit creative with their ways of going undetected and that means less of the traditional wallhacks and aimbots and more outlandish methods. That’s exactly what Warzone player ‘Rip-Falcon’ experienced firsthand during a match when a hacker unleashed a wild new cheat onto the unsuspecting combatant. Hacker’s Warzone climbing cheat exposed In a clip posted to Reddit, Rip-Falcon’s squadmates were voicing their frustration with a hacker eliminating them and sending them to the gulag. After getting the call that the cheater was coming up the rocks, Rip-Falcon prepared for a confrontation but was shocked when the hacker’s speed drastically increased and took a melee straight to the cranium. “What?!” the player gasped. “He climbed up right there?” In the killcam, you can see the hacker use their melee to gain a massive speed boost and travel up the cliff in seconds, completely catching his adversary off-guard. “I mean, I know the dude was hacking since he had 40 kills, but it was something I hadn’t seen before. People are getting creative with the hacks,” Red-Falcon commented on the thread. “The hack is increased melee distance iirc, he’s using that to climb,” another wrote. “Pretty creative ngl, still a hacking f**k.” Others remarked how they experienced the exact same thing in their games and hoped that action would be taken against the cheater in the future. In any case, this is just the latest innovation in the battle between devs and hackers.

Warzone hackers can now fly around Caldera in Big Bertha trucks – Dexerto
Warzone hackers can now fly around Caldera in Big Bertha trucks ActivisionWarzone players have been left confused and frustrated as new cheats appear to give the BR’s armored ‘big bertha’ trucks the ability to fly – despite RICOCHET anti-cheat being in full effect. While the two years since Warzone’s launch cannot be considered anything other than a resounding success for Activision, they have been somewhat marred by the game’s issues with cheating and the publisher’s inability to ever really get a handle on the situation. Many fans were enthused when RICOCHET was announced and implemented – Warzone’s very own custom-made anti-cheat system. Since it’s addition back in December, there have been marked signs of improvement, but also frustratingly resilient hacks that continue to evade the software. Recent reports from players show cheaters with no name (making reporting them more difficult) and, rather bizarrely, flying in big bertha trucks. The giant armored trucks have long been difficult to counter in Warzone, but encountering them flying makes them even more egregious and makes transport for hackers so simple. One Redditor captured the enemy using said hacks, but managed to kill them after they got caught on a warehouse entrance. Blowing up the Bertha the hacker is using appears to be the best counter, but we recognize this is easier said than done when they are hundreds of meters above unsuspecting players. Another, who had presumably died to the cheating players, captured their perspective as they flew around Caldera and gunned unaware enemies from the clouds. We’ve seen some incredibly annoying cheats across Warzone’s history, but this make just take the cake as the most obnoxious. Naturally, many players were drawn to demanding an immediate patch from Raven, even if it included temporarily disabling the vehicles altogether.

Warzone hackers can now crash anyone’s game and are targeting streamers – Dexerto
Warzone hackers can now crash anyone’s game and are targeting streamers Activision / Pexels, Sora ShimazakiAs brought to light by 100 Thieves Warzone pro Tommey, there seems to be a nightmarish new hack in CoD’s battle royale. While queuing up for a tournament, a random user joined his group and… immediately crashed the game. Call of Duty: Warzone players are no strangers to hacks and PC players are no strangers to dev errors. In a twisted mélange of fate, those two issues seem to have joined forces in the game’s newest terror. Loading into Verdansk alongside his teammate, Fifakill, Tommey was confused when a random user joined their group. Moments later, he was even more confused as said player simply greeted them and Tommey’s Warzone client immediately crashed. Tommey first posted about the issue on Twitter, before going back in and double-checking that the unthinkable had really happened. Shortly after, he shared video proof of the forced dev error. This user just joined our lobby, said hello and then gave me a dev error? Please don’t tell me it’s a new thing where players can force dev errors… Please. pic.twitter.com/GrgTzH9Yuz — Tommey (@Tommey) July 1, 2021 As can be seen in Tommey’s first tweet, a user with a ridiculously cryptic name joined he and Fifakill in the pregame lobby. Apparently, this user “said hello and then gave [Tommey] a dev error.” Unsure if that was actually possible or not, the 100 Thieves content creator jumped back in and seemed to have rejoined the user to test it out. You can now (or maybe even have been able to for a while?) force a dev error on another player. pic.twitter.com/CAirpu41d2 — Tommey (@Tommey) July 1, 2021 After the random user was denied repeatedly when asking if Tommey had any questions, the game client suddenly crashed. They seemed to want Tommey to ask how they’re doing the weird hack, and appeared to be disappointed when he declined. At the moment, it’s unclear if this is a new or simply a newly emerging hack — or what exactly causes it. For now, though, players ought to set their in-game groups to invite-only so that random hackers can’t join up and ruin their session.

Warzone hackers bless random players with all gun camos, attachments, and level 1000 – Dexerto
Warzone hackers bless random players with all gun camos, attachments, and level 1000 ActivisionIt’s quite possibly the greatest Warzone hack or glitch of all time. No one understands what’s happening, but players are randomly being given level 1,000 and every single gun camo unlock in the game — including Dark Matter. It’s not an exaggeration to say that the Call of Duty community, and all gaming communities for that matter, do not like hackers. It’s not fun to compete against people who have an unfair advantage and can ruin your games. You know what is fun, though? Sparkly, pretty gun camos and having access to every gun in the game without needing to sweat it out in multiplayer. Streamers literally pay people to unlock this stuff, but now they’re randomly getting it instantly and for free. In a bizarre Robin Hood redemption arc, it seems that hackers — who have long been able to unlock everything for themselves — are now unlocking for players in their lobbies. It could be a glitch, too, but the most popular current theory is that it’s generous cheaters. Warzone hack gives players all gun camos & attachments Best hack (or glitch) ever? Warzone players are randomly unlocking all gun camos, attachments, and level 1000 🤯 (via @DiazBiffle) pic.twitter.com/RMj8aoX0JI — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) July 12, 2021 As you can see in Biffle’s clip, he’s casually moving around as a string of achievements and camo unlocks start rolling through. That kept going, causing him to eventually back out of the match as his screen was simply covered by these rewards. Read more: ZLaner silences Warzone cheating claims by dropping 38 kills with outrageous stream setup – Once in the lobby, he realized that he had unlocked every gun, every camo, and hit level 1,000. While his teammates freaked out, wishing it happened to them, he quickly equipped a fully kitted Swiss K31 loadout. The next game, the exact same thing happened to his teammate, SuperEvan. And they weren’t the only ones either, as even Minnesota ROKKR Warzone streamer iSmixie said it happened to her as well. And then I get hacked too level 1000 and all my guns unlocked I am inches from uninstalling https://t.co/a9HrHkk4fB — Ultra Smixie (@iSmixie) July 12, 2021 Like Biff, Smixie assumed she was hacked when it happened. But no one is really sure what is going on and why it’s happening. Other streamers, like Swagg and MuTeX, got similar glitches — but some people only seem to get the levels, but not the camos. Even more recently, FaZe Clan streamer NICKMERCS got the hack live on stream, while he was playing with TimTheTatMan and Cloakzy. He had no idea what was going on, but chat alerted him and the crew proceeded to lose it when they realized he had secured all Dark Matter camos instantly. The hack just happened to @NICKMERCS too and the guys are losing it 😭 (via @timthetatman) pic.twitter.com/nmTJLZWoCL — DEXERTO Call of Duty Esports News (@DexertoIntel) July 12, 2021 At the moment, the prevailing theory is that this is an older CoD hack that has now been repurposed for Warzone with the ability to hack other players’ accounts. Some believe it’s tied to the recent free trials by cheat companies, but it’s all very unclear. Overall, it seems like a positive, Robin Hood-esque hack, which makes people want to log on in hopes that they get similarly blessed. A potential downside though — what if innocent, hacked players get banned as Activision notices manipulated accounts?

Warzone hackers are raging over bans & normal players love it – Dexerto
Warzone hackers are raging over bans & normal players love it Activision / FOXCall of Duty: Warzone hackers are getting publicly angry at the biggest cheat providers because of bans and normal players are absolutely eating up the “satisfying” rage content. One of the most exciting additions with Warzone Pacific was the highly anticipated Ricochet Anti-Cheat. And, while the anti-cheat hasn’t been able to curb hacking by 100%, it’s done enough to enrage a lot of illegitimate gamers. As such, banned hackers are taking to Twitter to yell at one of the biggest cheat-selling websites around. For them, this is an outrage. For regular, law-abiding players, it’s some of the most delightful drama around. Across Reddit and Twitter, former hackers are incensed and the rest of Warzone’s players are simply sitting back and enjoying their complaints. Warzone hackers rage at each other over bans https://twitter.com/MillarFn/status/1478128274203160578 After a popular cheating website tweeted, its paying users flocked to the replies to complain. One tried to explain the situation on behalf of all cheaters: “We’re all banned because you got detected. So, we’re still stuck because we’re all [hardware] banned so until you get the spoofer we can’t play.” Another doubled down on the hardware concerns, too: “We got HWID bans meaning all our accounts got banned and we can’t make new ones.” Basically, these cheaters have been paying for subscriptions to a service that got detected and now their accounts are banned and they can’t log on. As such, they’re upset with the website – saying things like “you do bad your work.” Regular Warzone fans enjoy the banned hacker “tears” Haha, love seeing the tears of cheaters. Poor hardware banned cheaters. Get better. — Joshua Garrett (@JoshGarrett1981) January 3, 2022 The hacker rage quickly spread through the Warzone community, with non-cheating players enjoying the infighting. One user replied on Twitter that they “love seeing the tears of cheaters,” while others chimed in on Reddit. On the r/StreamersCheating subreddit, people are eating the drama up. One player called it a “joyful piece of art,” while someone else explained that they’re “glad that cheaters are suffering and losing against the anti-cheat.” For the simplest summary of how normal players are feeling, though, we turn to TrentonRommy’s comment: “This is so satisfying to read. Screw ’em.”

Warzone Mar 15 update fixes glitch allowing hackers to end matches early – Dexerto
Warzone Mar 15 update fixes glitch allowing hackers to end matches early ActivisionWarzone devs Raven Software have released an update on March 15, fixing a glitch that allowed hackers to prematurely end matches. Anyone who has taken a remote interest in Call of Duty: Warzone since its 2020 launch will know of the game’s major problems with hackers. It is perhaps a symptom of cross-platform play, but many players from all platforms have been affected by the issues. Back at the start of February, 60,000 accounts were banned by Activision for cheating, but it appears to have hardly scratched the surface of the game’s issues with hackers. Many players have even reported that there are more hackers in their Warzone matches than before, despite the game being more than a year old. There was previously an issue where matches would end, resulting in a win for everyone in the lobby – and it’s back, but suspicions are that hackers are behind it. Warzone hackers to blame? The cheats players use can vary massively, but wall-hacking and aim-botting are both incredibly common in standard matches. If this bug is actually the malicious work of hackers, it could be even more serious. The exploit was captured by NRG content creator JoeWo, who hadn’t even landed in his Warzone match when the game was ended. He was then thrown into a Final Killcam, before the game ended completely. Bizarrely, it appears that Joe was handed a win for the match, suggesting that every player in the lobby was also given a 1st place finish. It’s not clear if the killcam shown was the ‘hackers’ themselves or just the last kill before the game was ended prematurely. Hackers can just end Warzone games now… pic.twitter.com/xlOlE7yqCA — JoeWo (@AverageJoeWo) March 14, 2021 Devs fix major game-ending Warzone glitch Regardless of what was happening, or even how it was happening, the devs have provided players an update. Posting to Twitter on Monday, March 15, they said: “We rolled out a Warzone update yesterday addressing an issue that allowed matches to be ended prematurely.” They also ask that if anyone encounters the problem again, to report it in the replies, presumably so they can unsure they’ve completely fixed it. We rolled out a #Warzone update yesterday addressing an issue that allowed matches to be ended prematurely. If this continues to happen, please let us know in the replies. — Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) March 15, 2021 A bug that gave all players in the lobby a free win was actually reported back in February. Raven have not yet responded to the issues, but many want to see a prompt fix given the nature and severity of the issues. Since Warzone’s launch, though, many have criticized the slow responses of Raven and Activision to hacking, suggesting that their failure to implement a robust anti-cheat system is worsening the game for all players. This issue may have been fixed, but players will be eagerly awaiting updates on some of the more frustrating hacks that are encountered across Verdansk.

Warzone hackers are bringing terrifying chopper gunners to Rebirth Island – Dexerto
Warzone hackers are bringing terrifying chopper gunners to Rebirth Island ActivisionSome Warzone hackers have taken their quest to ruin other players’ experience to the next level by combining their aimbot with a helicopter to create a Chopper Gunner-lite. While hackers and cheats have been around in Warzone pretty much since the very start, they’ve become increasingly more visible in the last year with the Black Ops Cold War integration. Over that time, the hacks have gone from aimbots, wallhacks, and god modes, to speed boosts, unlocking all items, and being able to go invisible. It is the aimbots and wallhacks that annoy players most, however, as they’re the two most common. With Vanguard just around the corner, and Activision launching the Ricochet anti-cheat system, some hackers have gotten a little creative with their cheats, much to the annoyance of others. A clip posted to TikTok shows that some hackers have started combining their aimbots with the helicopters found on Rebirth Island, getting their teammates to fly them around so they can use it like a Chopper Gunner. One post, which has racked up over 750,000 views, shows one aimbot user sitting in the back of the helicopter and using the FiNN LMG to rain death from above. Naturally, other players can do much about it given the insane accuracy of the shots. While many Warzone players have previously noted that Rebirth can be a bit of a safe haven from hackers, but that has changed. So, it seems as is if you’ll have to keep your eyes to the sky until Ricochet is in place. Many viewers have been left baffled by the clip, questioning how hackers have been able to escape punishment given just how outrageous they’ve gotten with the cheating. It remains to be seen if Activision will crackdown on hackers with another ban wave or two before Ricochet hits the game’s servers, with players suggesting they need to be able to add more accounts to their already full blocked lists as a temporary anti-hacker measure.

Warzone hackers are being paid to stream snipe TimTheTatman, Kalei, more – Dexerto
Warzone hackers are being paid to stream snipe TimTheTatman, Kalei, more Twitter.com/TimTheTatmanThere’s a ring of Warzone hackers being paid to stream snipe creators like FaZe Kalei and TimTheTatman. Fifakill explained the specifics of this trend and how it affects the streamers involved. On October 20, Warzone pro Fifakill explained how a single Discord server may be making Warzone’s hacking problem even worse than anyone realized. According to a conversation with notorious cheater IHACKFORTHEWIN, this server lets users place a price on any streamer they want to target, inviting hackers to stream snipe whoever they select until the designated creator ends their stream. While this kind of problem is not unheard of in the streaming space — Ninja previously dealt with a similar issue — the specifics of the system are fairly disturbing. The bigger following that any individual Twitch or YouTube target has means more money earned for the headhunter who shuts them down. Okay so today I got a chance to talk to the ‘IHACKFORTHEWIN’ guy who’s been stream sniping whilst hacking. He’s in a discord where people PAY to put a bounty on a streamer and then they snipe them until they give up and end their stream😕 the bigger the streamer the more money🙃 — Fifakill (@Fifakill_) October 21, 2021 Fifakill exposes hackers targeting TimTheTatman and others in Warzone After explaining how the system works, Fifakill also named some of the streamers that have recently been targeted by this system – including TimTheTatman, Kalei, Tommey, MuTeX, and Symfuhny. These are not short one-off instances either, these hackers have to be persistent in order to achieve their intended results. Kalei shared her side of an encounter that lasted for over eight hours despite her best efforts to shake the hacker. 8 hours. for one night lol. every lobby. even when they were blocked and i was hiding screen. he was on a new account — FaZe Kalei (@KaleiRenay) October 21, 2021 Not everyone is in the loop about the specifics though, as MuTeX was shocked to hear that the end goal of these cheaters was to get him to end his stream. “Thanks for letting me know. Good luck getting me offline this time.” While these hackers may be racking in cash for their efforts now, this behavior will likely come to an end with the release of the new RICOCHET anti-cheat system arriving in Warzone on November 5.

Warzone hackers are already cheating with Vanguard guns – Dexerto
Warzone hackers are already cheating with Vanguard guns ActivisionHackers continue to run rampant in Warzone, but now it looks like they’re using Vanguard weapons to showcase their aimbots. The Warzone Season 6 update is finally here, which means players can get their hands on a number of new weapons. While the CoD community is currently busy unlocking the best loadouts for the new Grav AR and .410 Ironhide shotgun, it seems two Vanguard weapons have been released ahead of their official launch. Both the STG44 and M1 Garand are currently viewable in Warzone’s Gunsmith. Despite this, players can’t actually use these weapons in Warzone’s standard modes. However, it hasn’t taken long for hackers to find a way to unlock them. Warzone hackers unlock Vanguard weapons early Following reports that Vanguard weapons can use 10 attachments, many players have been curious to see how the STG44 and M1 Garand perform in Warzone. In fact, a method was recently discovered that enables players to test both guns in any game mode that has the Weapon Drop Field Upgrade. Whether this was intentional or not remains to be seen, but now a number of hackers have seemingly found a way to use Vanguard weapons in Warzone’s core modes. After picking up a Bounty, Symfuhny began to run towards the enemy player’s location. However, the streamer quickly found themselves on the receiving end of some laser-accurate gunfire. This resulted in Symfuhny being eliminated before he could even fire a single shot, leaving the streamer questioning what had just transpired. However, it was only upon watching the killcam that Symfuhny discovered that the hacker had been using both the STG44 and M1 Garand. Read More: Ultimate Warzone event calendar – It remains unclear whether the hacker had access to all 10 attachments, but the STG44 certainly seemed to have an incredibly quick TTK. We’ll likely see more of these guns as more hackers get access to them, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself on the receiving end of these Vanguard guns.

Warzone hacker tries to disguise cheats in worst possible way – Dexerto
Warzone hacker tries to disguise cheats in worst possible way ActivisionA hacker in Call of Duty Warzone attempted to cover up their aim botting by using a heartbeat sensor, but nobody’s buying it. Warzone has been flooded with hackers since the game launched all the way back in March 2020. Although Activision introduced the RICOCHET anti-cheat system, some argue it hasn’t done enough to purge cheaters completely from the game, and that running into them can still be a regular occurrence. One Reddit user posted a player using cheats who hilariously tried to cover up their tracks in the laziest way possible. Warzone player fails to cover up cheating On April 8, Redditor ThisMemeWontDie posted to the CODWarzone subreddit a clip from their recent match. The post was titled: “Oh he pulled out the heartbeat he definitely isn’t cheating.” The clip shows killcam footage of the Reddit user being taken out by a player that pulls out a Heartbeat Sensor, doesn’t use it at all, then insta-locks onto two heads with a Homecoming Assault Rifle for a free double kill. The cheater in the video barely made an attempt to hide their hacking ways by merely pulling out the equipment, only to not use it at all. Warzone fans sounded off in the comment section voicing their frustrations. One user claimed: “The hacking has ramped up immensely the past couple of weeks. It’s so damn annoying.” Another CoD fan shared how defeated they feel with the current state of cheating in Warzone. They said: “I’m always on the receiving end of this. I don’t even report stuff like that anymore. I feel like it’s just a waste of time. ” It seems that cheating has become so prevalent hackers aren’t even trying to hide their ways anymore. And when they do, like this clip, it’s an instant meme.

Warzone hacker shows why CoD players want to avoid cross-play – Dexerto
Warzone hacker shows why CoD players want to avoid cross-play Infinity WardThe growing wave of hackers in Warzone is making many in the Call of Duty console community want to avoid cross-play with PC players altogether. Modern Warfare’s battle royale has been subjected to a burgeoning problem with cheaters since its launch. From aimbots, wallhacks, and even speed hacks, CoD users can come across multiple instances of problematic players. Luckily, not everyone has come across these hackers, but after checking out XB1-Space_1776’s gameplay, it’s pretty clear to see how one cheater can instantly ruin an entire Warzone match for others. With a contract almost expiring, Space1776 momentarily exposed themselves to a nearby rooftop where an enemy was perched. But unlike a regular player, once they opened fire on the ground level opponent, their opposing members were instantly deleted. A laserbeam of bullets reigned down directly at their target and only stopped exactly when the downed player was completely eliminated. The killcam for the elimination instantly did away with any doubt that the attacker was using an aimbot. After killing Space1776, the player’s gun magnetized to another nearby opponent, immediately downing them as well. “Another day, another game with cheaters,” Space1776 IW said. “[Activision, you] NEED to disable cross-play with PC until you fix this.” While there is a method to opt-out of crossplay on consoles, a 150-user game like Warzone needs as big of a player pool as possible for people to get regular queue times. But because of the growing problem with cheaters on PC servers, some players are willing to avoid cross-play for higher quality matches. “In the perfect world, the default setting would be crossplay between PS4 and Xbox without PC,” user ‘rogue_psycho’ said. “And an option to turn on crossplay with PC players for people that want to play with their PC friends.” Infinity Ward have been doing their part to combat hackers in Warzone and Modern Warfare. The company announced on March 31 that they had banned over 50,000 accounts and laid out the groundwork of how they’re dealing with incoming cheaters. As the Call of Duty community finds hackers across their games, players will want to see more action from the developers.

Warzone hacker shows off unreleased Scream skin ahead of Halloween event – Dexerto
Warzone hacker shows off unreleased Scream skin ahead of Halloween event ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone fans are patiently waiting for this year’s Halloween event as tons of spooky-themed skins are expected to drop and thanks to a hacker we get a look at an unreleased Scream one in-game. Warzone has been taking a lot of movie and comic book characters and integrated them into the game as operator skins. Last year, things got really spooky with the Haunting of Verdansk, which introduced Billy the Puppet and Leatherface into the game. As Halloween is on the horizon yet again, fans are dying to get their hands on this year’s skins. While they may not be released yet, this isn’t stopping hackers from showcasing one ahead of the event. Warzone hacker shows off Ghostface Scream skin While hacking continues to be a problem in Warzone, this act is a little less hostile than most. In a Reddit post, user ‘Moco683’ showed they were able to get a screenshot of a hacker using this year’s Scream skin coming later this season. In this picture, we can see just how amazing the Ghostface skin looks in-game. One impressed user wrote, “Finally a skin worth spending CoD Points on.” While other fans are extremely excited for this to release the public, the Call of Duty Twitter account has hinted that this skin could be available when The Haunting goes live on October 19. https://twitter.com/CallofDuty/status/1445839980442505216 This isn’t the first time we have seen hackers run the streets of Verdansk with unreleased skins, but it at least gives players a chance to look at it in-game before deciding if they wish to buy it or not. For now, players will need to wait and check back on October 18, as Activision has hinted at revealing the full details of the Halloween event.

Warzone hacker shows off unreleased Judge Dredd skin during win – Dexerto
Warzone hacker shows off unreleased Judge Dredd skin during win ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone fans have been extremely excited since the release of Season 5 Reloaded. With this update, it was announced that Judge Dredd will be coming to the game with an operator skin. While players await its arrival, a hacker took the chance to showcase this after winning a game on Verdansk. Previously, Warzone integrated an 80’s Action Heroes bundle, which included skins for Rambo and John McClane. While this saw much success, Activision announced that Judge Dredd will be coming to the game during Season 5. With no set release date, players are still waiting to get the skin and drop into Verdansk with it, but one hacker decided they wanted the skin now. Warzone hacker shows off new Judge Dredd skins before release Hackers have been running loose on the streets of Verdansk for quite some time. At one point, they were unlocking all camos for players and even putting camos from Zombies into Warzone before it was allowed. One Redditor, Copy_Code, was in a game with hackers and posted this image showing off their latest work. In this hackers edition, they decided they wanted to show off the unreleased Judge Dredd skin that is coming later in Season 5 Reloaded. Despite ruining the fun of the lobby by dropping 80 kills and winning the game, these hackers did some good to the community. They showcased the soon-to-be-released Judge Dredd, comic book variant, operator skin. Judge Dredd is coming with two different skin variants, one in his normal, crime-fighting colorized outfit, and another in a comic book-stylized, cel-shaded variant in black and white, which was shown off by the hacker. This gave players a great look at the skin and can make their decision a bit easier when deciding if they want to buy it or not when it’s properly released to the community.

Warzone hacker grants TimTheTatman’s wish with flying car cheat – Dexerto
Warzone hacker grants TimTheTatman’s wish with flying car cheat Activision / TimTheTatmanWarzone players have been dealing with a flying car hack that takes the wheels to the sky. After begging for someone to pick him up, TimTheTatman’s dreams came true as he got to experience this first hand. The Warzone flying car cheat has been creating chaos in Season 1 of the Pacific. Players were losing their minds when they first saw this as no one thought this could ever be a thing. Now, numerous clips have surfaced showing the wild hack in action. One edition on Rebirth Island even saw this four-wheeled machine take out a helicopter from the air. While it has been ruining games, some streamers like TimTheTatman have been asking for a hacker to take him up so they can farm views, and it seems his wish has been granted. TimTheTatman gets Warzone flying car hack experience Tim was playing Warzone with TeeP, Merk and DougisRaw when he first experienced the infamous flying car. The hacker took him for a ride around Caldera before he was ultimately sniped and then dropped down to his death. Despite this being a game-breaking hack, Tim still kept his spirits up. “A lot of you are probably like ‘this is shambles’ honestly I agree, and I kind of love it.” Even though this isn’t a great look for the game, at least it has produced some of the greatest clips to come in Warzone’s history.

Warzone hacker goes viral on TikTok showing differences between aimbot & silent aim – Dexerto
Warzone hacker goes viral on TikTok showing differences between aimbot & silent aim ActivisionIn a since-deleted viral TikTok, Call of Duty: Warzone players got a peek behind the hacker’s curtains — as a cheater demonstrated how silent aim and standard aimbot look “for educational purposes.” One of the most controversial Warzone TikTok creators, ‘rushman360’ seems to do a lot of hacking videos under the guise of showing legitimate players what they’re really up against. While many are reasonably outraged by the TikToker’s content, others find it interesting — as he often breaks down precisely what hacks do, how they look, and how they can be detected. He claims his overall goal is to expose the ugliness so that it is dealt with, but not everyone is convinced. Still, one especially controversial video (which has since been removed from both TikTok and Reddit’s Warzone page) breaks down the oft-misunderstood difference between silent aim (or magnetic aim) and aimbot. As you can see in the clip, rushman is able to toggle between both types of aimbot. And, as he shows in a series of disrespectful kills, the two forms look very different from one another. When shooting with regular aimbot, the crosshairs practically snap onto targets’ heads with ridiculous speed. This is the form of cheating that is most obvious to those who are watching a killcam or spectating. When shooting with silent aim, the crosshair placement doesn’t seem to matter at all, as the bullets magically hit the target no matter where the gun is aimed. This form of hacking would be much harder to be sure of, since it could look like spectator delay. Had my craziest warzone experience yesterday. FIVE hackers in one game & 2 of them got live banned. Sad to see this game turn into this mess. While some Redditors are upset with rushman for showing the hacks, others appreciated the insights. One user responded “demonstrating cheating doesn’t make it acceptable,” while another said “it opened my eyes to have him explain it.” It should go without saying, but no — you should not buy hacks and cheat in games of Warzone. If you do, not only are you objectively a bad person, you’re also putting yourself at risk of a hardware ban.

Warzone hacker gets instant karma as their own vehicle wipes them out – Dexerto
Warzone hacker gets instant karma as their own vehicle wipes them out Treyarch/ActivisionA Warzone hacker received a heavy dose of karma after their own vehicle eliminated them from the match in the middle of an intense gunfight. Despite Warzone’s overwhelming popularity in the battle royale genre, the game has a few glaring issues that are constantly brought up by the player base. One of those is the number of hackers that can be found in almost every single match. Unfortunately, it’s these cheating players that ruin the experience for the rest of the community and it can often feel like the developers aren’t doing everything in their power to eradicate the problem. So, when a clip of a vehicle taking revenge on a hacker was posted to Reddit, it’s fair to say it grabbed the attention of the game’s community. Warzone hacker eliminated by their own vehicle A thread posted to the CODWarzone subreddit of a hacker being taken out by his own vehicle has garnered over 4,000 upvotes. The clip begins with the cheating player going after an opponent in a Cargo Truck. After reaching their target, who’s parked on a hillside, the hacker jumps out of their Tactical Rover and propels the vehicle up the hill. Unfortunately, as the saying goes, whatever goes up must come down, and the cheating player was about to learn that the hard way. Unable to react in time, their own vehicle rolls down the hill and puts them in a downed state. The Rover then pushes them all the way to a small ledge, which they fall off and miraculously survive. It’s at this point that the hacker attempts to self-revive, but the vehicle has other plans, falling on top of them and eliminating them from the match. At this point, it’s fair to say most Warzone players are tired of the issues with exploits and hacking in the title. For now, it’s not clear when these problems will be fixed despite multiple ban waves taking place in recent months. In the meantime, it’s at least promising to see that the game’s vehicles are taking it upon themselves to punish these players.
