  • Warzone hacker dies in most embarrassing way possible – Dexerto

Warzone hacker dies in most embarrassing way possible ActivisionIt’s often said that Warzone hackers are those that are bad at the game just trying to find a way to enjoy it — and this cheater died in the most embarrassing way possible, giving real credence to the theory. Hacking has been a major problem in Warzone for almost as long as the game has been around. We’ve seen top streamers be accused of hacking on a near-daily basis, and regular ban waves to wipe out the worst offenders from Verdansk. Now, with the RICOCHET anti-cheat system having been announced and arriving in Warzone with the Vanguard integration, it looks as though hackers are getting their last days of fun in — but it’s not going brilliantly for some. Mr-Bubbles777 was trying to play some Warzone when he got killed by a hacker. He chose to spectate the player, and witnessed perhaps one of the most embarrassing deaths you’ll ever see. Read More: CoD Vanguard cheater exposed by CDL pros – The player ‘itsdcbgames’ — whose name links to a Facebook page for Warzone cheating and has multiple Activision accounts with insane K/D ratios — was having some serious trouble pushing a player above them. They threw grenades in abundance, even using a Munitions Box to collect more, but didn’t even step foot on the stairs. Instead, on the final Semtex in their collection, itsdcb games hit the ceiling with a grenade, promptly throwing up both the ammo box and himself. These are the kinds of players you dream of coming up against (if they weren’t hacking) in Warzone, clearly not great at the game and doing anything they can to get some kills and wins. Itsdcbgames was obviously seriously embarrassed by the death, immediately letting himself die rather than let the show go any longer. Needless to say, when RICOCHET does arrive in Warzone, these players are going to have some serious teething pains.

  • Warzone hacker conspiracy theorists now tracking ZLaner’s moves IRL – Dexerto

Warzone hacker conspiracy theorists now tracking ZLaner’s moves IRL Activision / Twitter, @ZLanerOFFICIALCall of Duty: Warzone’s hacker watchdogs have officially stepped into new real-world territory. Following ZLaner’s decision to move homes, conspiracy theorists seem convinced that his relocation is tied to cheating. There’s a lot of hubbub and rumors being thrown around regarding hackers in Warzone. The game’s cheating situation is a big problem, and one big enough that the developers have flaunted their upcoming anti-cheat, which should launch with Vanguard’s integration. But, while there are very obvious hackers in the battle royale, there is also always speculation about people who may be cheating more discreetly. And ZLaner is one such target, despite trying to shut down accusations with outrageous stream setups and personal flight offers. But the accusers will not be denied, and now they’ve found a new reason to suspect Z of cheating: The fact that he’s moving to Toronto, Canada, for his second home relocation in five months. ZLaner’s move deemed suspicious by Warzone hack accusers There is no way this guy is moving again.. 🤣 2nd move in about 5 months. 🤔 pic.twitter.com/osq5YzOSjO — BadBoy Beaman (@BadBoyBeaman) September 30, 2021 Unsurprisingly, Z’s move was immediately latched onto by BadBoyBeaman, the most infamous hacker “investigator” around and a repeat accuser. Acting surprised that the streamer would move for the second time in five months, BBB laughed and slapped an investigative thinking emoji on. This simple prompt seemed to get the followers moving. One user replied, “Everyone said he’d move house when the anti-cheat drops,” while another simply pondered: “Hiding something hmm.” But Z’s supporters also appeared in bunches, mostly confused at why his move was even worth looking into. ZLaner defended against Warzone hackusations Is @ZLanerOFFICIAL cheating @timthetatman has the answer pic.twitter.com/1FK6COpeIR — Dexerto (@Dexerto) September 30, 2021 In the replies to the BBB tweet, many thought the YouTuber had gone too far. Among the comments, one said “You’re turning kinda creepy,” and another joked that Beaman was “obsessed.” And, with bigger names like Dr Disrespect and TimTheTatman involved by BBB’s supporters, Tim also decided to defend his new Warzone teammate. Ever the colorfully tongued linguist, the newly signed Complexity streamer had a simple message for those still accusing Z: “Shut the f**k up! He’s not cheating, you’re just bots.”

  • Warzone hacker conspiracies have driven children to literally wear tinfoil hats – Dexerto

Warzone hacker conspiracies have driven children to literally wear tinfoil hats Activision / Wikimedia CommonsA section of Call of Duty: Warzone fans have taken to conspiracy theories believing the game’s biggest streamers are hackers. Now, leaning into the trolls, their children are literally wearing tinfoil hats. There is a controversial subreddit devoted to identifying streamers who cheat in Warzone. And it’s not controversial because of the premise, since people — pros alike — think calling hackers out is important. It’s controversial because, on occasion, the hacker conspiracy theories go to… elaborate lengths. At one point, ZLaner’s IRL move to Toronto was questioned and, in turn, many have made fun of the accusers. Now, seemingly as a response to those jokes about conspiracy theorizing, headwear has gotten involved. In an October 24 Reddit post, someone showed that their son was wearing a tinfoil hat in the name of “passion.” Warzone hacker conspiracy theorist’s child wears tinfoil hat As you can see in the picture, ‘IBEATCURRY1on1’ has shared their son’s new outfit to the public forum. And, if you’re wondering why a child might wear a literal tinfoil hat while doing homework, the title offers an explanation. “My Son loves BadboyBeman’s tinfoil hat theme. We both dislike Streamer cheaters in COD and Fortnite with a passion.” One has to assume they’re talking about BadBoyBeaman here, a notorious hacker watchdog, but the intentions are obvious. In response, there was a bunch of support. One user said “dads are based. Can see through this bullshit that ‘professional’ gaming is.” But there’s been backlash as well, with one calling the OP a “terrible father” who should “stop pushing” their child into this scene. We won’t pass any judgment here, but this is an interesting demonstration of just how far along the streamer hacker conspiracy theories have gone. We’re now at a point where it’s not just people accusing popular players by themselves — families are getting involved. CoD Vanguard launches on November 5, after which the new title’s integration is meant to bring a robust RICOCHET Anti-Cheat to Warzone. At that point, one has to wonder if the accusations will slow down or simply evolve.

  • Warzone hacker confirms latest hardware bans prevent making new accounts – Dexerto

Warzone hacker confirms latest hardware bans prevent making new accounts ActivisionWarzone players have been frustrated with the amount of hackers they are running into. The devs have been trying to clean the streets with their “anti-cheat.” A hacker confirmed that his latest ban wont let him play on any accounts. For quite some time, the Warzone community has been begging Raven Software to do something about all the cheaters running loose. The devs have been doing sweeps periodically to help eliminate these accounts, but players have complained that this did nothing. They claimed this just let the hackers make fresh accounts to cheat on. Well it appears that the devs were listening and it seems that hackers will no longer be able to get banned, create a new account, and cheat again in Warzone. Warzone hacker says he can’t make new accounts Raven Software has been working on upping its strategy to deal with hackers. Some of the latest information suggested that hackers that were banned wouldn’t be able to make new accounts. This TikTok went viral after this hacker who said, “I’ve been hacking for a little bit,” showed off his banned Warzone account. https://www.tiktok.com/@rushman360/video/6995758944601869574?_d=secCgYIASAHKAESMgowzV3QWWFAzaAmEi6MATTdZuqKO3IcCuF9rsoiwxxh8tGF7PmVdSwkSqzUZZTCGGgA&checksum=ea95d5d9ee25a4d13b3702af91bef3e4639ce1a0ce6ac741264be8e5d2036730&language=en&preview_pb=0&sec_user_id=MS4wLjABAAAA-IrtoWKEXiQb8Km63Tr_8AA0W0Pj1fFkmID7cO-C_lvY7BnEi-MTVbEjuFCx6t3q&share_app_id=1233&share_item_id=6995758944601869574&share_link_id=5CC411FC-14FA-455F-868D-77E3AAF6EBC0&source=h5_m×tamp=1629065898&tt_from=copy&u_code=d976ajj3h9k753&user_id=6756642117118247941&utm_campaign=client_share&utm_medium=ios&utm_source=copy&_r=1&is_copy_url=1&is_from_webapp=v1&item_id=6995758944601869574#/@rushman360/video/6995758944601869574 It may seem weird that someone admits to cheating, but this person is showing off that his accounts are indeed banned. He says that he can’t play on accounts that he has never played on, “so they hardware banned my s**t,” he said. He goes on to add that he is happy for Activision as this will allow for content creators to return to Warzone. This is a great step for the dev team and players as the streets of Verdansk start to get cleaned up. With the launch of Vanguard, it’s confirmed there will be a proper anti-cheat integrated into Warzone. For now, players are hopeful this will start to lower the hacker population.

  • Warzone hacker claims they cheat because all the streamers do – Dexerto

Warzone hacker claims they cheat because all the streamers do ActivisionYouTuber JoeWo sat down with a Warzone hacker to see why they contribute to the battle royale’s problem with cheaters – and their response largely blamed streamers who they accuse of cheating as well. Cheating has been an ongoing issue in the streets of Verdansk for well over a year. With Vanguard bringing a new anti-cheat, this issue could be on the decline but that’s not until November. Warzone star JoeWo ran into a hacker and had a conversation with them. Turns out they think that streamers cheat too. Warzone hacker suggests they cheat because streamers do For those that may have missed it, there has been tons of drama surrounding ZLaner and other streamers who are being accused of cheating. While all Warzone pros vouch for them some people aren’t convinced otherwise. JoeWo was dropping into solo matches for a bit of fun when he ran into a cheater. After the game, he decided to invite him into his lobby for a chat and asked them why they cheat. The hacker responded to JoeWo’s question and said, “If you want to tell you the god’s honest truth, have you not seen all the s**t on these streamers cheating and s**t.” They specifically called out HusKerrs and Swagg saying, “No-recoil f**king HusKerrs cheats, no-recoil Swagg cheats, you can’t tell me they don’t.” JoeWo responded, confirming that he’s seen both of them play in-person, and they don’t hack. I had a conversation with a cheater w/ a 1.04 KD before hacks and here is what he had to say: pic.twitter.com/03QuDItwRa — JoeWo (@AverageJoeWo) October 4, 2021 The cheater also accounted for streamer’s high K/D’s to link them toward cheating. JoeWo asked the cheater what their K/D was before hacking. Turns out the player had a 1.04 before buying cheats and currently has an 8.88 K/D according to CoD Tracker. JoeWo ended by saying this is a career and these streamers are pouring hours of their life into this game to become the best, and people need to accept that they are people that are good at Warzone without needing to cheat.

  • Warzone hacker claims cheaters are in almost every match – Dexerto

Warzone hacker claims cheaters are in almost every match Infinity WardA Warzone player who tried out cheats has claimed that “every match” is burdened with hackers, following a brief investigation they carried out. Hacking in Warzone has been a recurring issue. Regular updates from Infinity Ward tempered community frustrations, as it seemed like the developers were taking a hardline towards any and all cheaters. However, recent weeks have seen more and more players complaining about the prevalence of hackers, including a host of prominent content creators. It has also been some time since we got an official update from Activision about the measures they are taking, and the number of people who have been banned. On July 3, Redditor ‘Questioned_Kadavr‘ shared a story, claiming that they and some friends had paid for hacks in Warzone, in order to carry out an investigation into cheating. The Reddit user said: “So after match after match of frustration and being dumped on by hackers my squad mate had an idea. He performed a quick google search, found the site and got the common $12 for 24 hour cheats for Warzone. The following is what we learned and what happened next.” Kadavr was keen to point out that they set some ground rules in their games to try and minimize the extent to how much they ruined other people’s games, including agreements not to push other people, to only play in self-defense and to not win the games they were playing. “We literally in 7 hours of straight match after match in Trios didn’t have a single game without hackers,” the Redditor claimed. “There was always 3-4 squads with at least 1 guy using wall [hacks]… It’s so insidious, you can see whether they are crouching, ADS, the direction they are facing, their exact distance in meters”. They also claimed that it was incredibly easy to act like they were not hacking, claiming that they were never once accused of cheating, despite their fairly obvious exploitations of the game’s mechanics. The Redditor summarized: “We hacked for research, [and] learned every match is full of wall hackers. Quitting the game until PS5 and no crossplay is an option for my squad. Game is broken, game is trash, game is infected and they aren’t doing a thing about it”. Whether the Reddit user’s claims are true can’t be verified, but it’s clear that a host of players feel not enough is being done to combat cheating in Warzone. Previously Infinity Ward required a mobile phone number to make a new account, making it more difficult for banned players to simply start again. But, a workaround for this has now been found by the cheaters, and they are apparently filling up lobbies again.

  • CouRage gets Warzone hacker banned live on TimTheTatman’s stream – Dexerto

CouRage gets Warzone hacker banned live on TimTheTatman’s stream CouRage / TimTheTatMan YouTube / ActivisionBigtime Warzone streamers CouRage and Timthetatman were ecstatic after Activision actually banned a hacker live on stream mere hours after begging the devs for help. Call of Duty’s battle royale has had a problem with persistent hackers and people trying to crack the game’s code. The situation has developed to where cheaters have accessed everything from wall hacks, aim cheats, and even advanced forms of exploits that completely destroy anyone else’s chance of winning in Warzone. YouTube star CouRage has had to contend with these cheaters a lot. He queues up with fellow streaming giants like NICKMERCS, TimTheTatman, and Cloakzy, who all typically attract hackers on their own. This flared up when the quartet was streaming Warzone on May 13, to the point where the 100 Thieves co-owner had to tweet at Activision and Warzone devs Raven Software pleading them to take some sort of action. Hey @Activision @RavenSoftware I think it would be extremely beneficial to have someone watch our livestreams and ban blatant cheaters on the spot. Currently, there are two cheaters joining our lobbies and ruining our Warzone experience with about 150,000 live viewers watching — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) May 13, 2021 “Hey Activision and RavenSoftware, I think it would be extremely beneficial to have someone watch our live-streams and ban blatant cheaters on the spot,” he wrote. “Currently, there are two cheaters joining our lobbies and ruining our Warzone experience with about 150,000 live viewers watching.” A couple of hours later, it seems that Activision had indeed heard CouRage’s calls for help; while he and TimTheTatman were spectating someone in-game who was clearly hacking, the player was suddenly removed from the game, prompting the streamers to celebrate. Tim later confirmed through his assistant that this indeed was a case of a cheater getting banned, not just them leaving the game or turning off their system. While those players usually get away, CouRage and Tim were stunned when the cheater they were spectating was booted from the match. Everybody in the lobby was instantly hyped, seeing that the Warzone servers lost one more hacker on the day. We actually did it… Hacker banned LIVE on stream. pic.twitter.com/4JCEe7KKhB — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) May 13, 2021 As frequently happens in cases like this, the whole situation spawned a separate side-conversation about whether or not streamers and high-profile Warzone players deserve to have this sort of special treatment, which includes having access to the devs that regular, everyday players don’t. Regardless of which side of that debate you stand on, most people would agree that hackers getting removed from Warzone is something that benefits the entire community and player-base, so it really is a win all-around.

  • Warzone hacker accidentally exposes cheats after falling victim to new anti-cheat measure – Dexerto

Warzone hacker accidentally exposes cheats after falling victim to new anti-cheat measure ActivisionCoD’s newest anti-cheat measure, the ‘Splat’ feature, has gone viral after a Warzone cheater exposed themselves on social media in perhaps the most amusing way yet. When Warzone first exploded onto the gaming scene, it did so without any form of anti-cheat system in place. Players were left to fend for themselves against hackers until RICOCHET arrived at the tail end of 2021. The now widespread anti-cheat system has evolved a great deal since then, largely keeping hackers at bay. Though on top of its regular duties, every once in a while, devs use this system to poke some fun at the players caught in its net. From making Operators invisible to ensuring their guns are absolutely useless, we’ve seen plenty of these hilarious trolls in action over the years. And now, another just joined the list as the ‘Splat’ feature exposed a cheater in perhaps the funniest way yet. Posting to X (previously known as Twitter) to start the new year, a player simply asked why they were being ‘victimized’ in Warzone. Upon dropping into a match, they were left unable to open their shoot as they plummetted to the ground much faster than usual. Even after being revived the first time, they instantly died once again after falling barely a few feet from a rooftop to the ground level. Confused as to “[what] happened,” social media quickly let this player know it was simply the RICOCHET anti-cheat system at work. Around the launch of Modern Warfare 3 (2023), we learned of key upgrades coming to CoD’s anti-cheat system. Though along with them, devs also teased the latest troll, a feature referred to as ‘Splat.’ In action, Splat disables a detected cheater’s parachute. Though that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Once a hacker has been targeted, this system can also change their velocity, making them go from “a bunny hop into a 10,000-foot drop, taking them out instantly.” Hit with a community note on X shortly after the post went viral, readers quickly pointed out the exact reason behind this hilarious death, due to Splat getting involved. Naturally, this is far from the only cheater exposing themselves in the CoD scene. Just a few days prior, a pro with over $70,000 of prize winnings to their name also revealed their hacks by mistake.

  • Warzone hack free trials blamed for massive spike in cheaters in Season 4 – Dexerto

Warzone hack free trials blamed for massive spike in cheaters in Season 4 ActivisionWarzone players have claimed that cheaters have become as rampant as ever in Season 4 as some cheat-selling websites have apparently started offering free trials on different hacks. Just like many other multiplayer games, Warzone has had its fair share of issues with cheaters and hackers, which have pushed players to call for changes or completely stop playing the battle royale. Raven Software have attempted to address things with countless ban waves, but players want a serious anti-cheat added to really root out the problems. At the end of Season 3, many fans complained that cheaters had once again overtaken the game after a little bit of a lull, and that seems to have carried over into Season 4, with some players believing they’ve found the cause of the issue. Since the start of Season 4, there have been countless posts across social media complaining about the state of the game, with many fans saying they’re running into cheaters at least half of the time. These cheats come in the form of aimbots, wallhacks, god mode, and much more, with some fans pushing for a global strike or outright deletion of the game until Raven resolves things. As for why cheaters are on the rise, some fans believe it’s because cheat sellers are now pushing free trials. “Yes, cheating is worse. A lot of cheat services have started offering free trials,” said Redditor ItWouldBe. Some fans were taken aback by that. “Bro wtf, they’re doing so good they got free f**king trials??? where is Activision??????” replied one. These free trials seemingly started happening at the end of Season 3, as other players reported it too. “The reason being is because a famous cheat provider is having a free trial on their cheats. Stop saying people are better, there are literally 2-3 cheaters per lobby on high elo in EU rn,” said Help_With_PC_PLS back in May. Some players have even adopted the ‘can’t beat them, join them stance’ of taking up these free trials. While they only appear to last for a game or two, that’s long enough to ruin another player’s experience. Activision have shut down cheat sellers before, and if these free trials become rampant, they may have to act once again.

  • Warzone hack accusers now bribing ZLaner’s mom to scan his PC – Dexerto

Warzone hack accusers now bribing ZLaner’s mom to scan his PC Twitter, @ZLanerOFFICIAL / Pexels / ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone streamer ZLaner’s hack accusers have taken things to a new level. Now, ascending the family tree, people are offering his mom thousands of dollars to scan the pro’s PC for cheating programs. The history of ZLaner and hacking accusations would sound absurd if you tried to describe it to your parents over Christmas dinner. A guy is so good at video games that he’s suspected of hacking. To end these concerns, he’s played with cameras watching his face, his screen, and tracking his eye movement. He’s even offered accusers flights to watch him play in person. Dissatisfied with all of those efforts, people even began questioning him about moving homes. And now, with a rigorous anti-cheat instituted, they’re still not convinced – going as far as bribing his own parent with $5,000 to scan his PC and USB drives. Warzone star ZLaner’s mother offered $5k to scan PC for hacks Imagine taking your holiday time to ask Zlaner’s mom to inspect her son’s pc to see if he’s hacking What is life pic.twitter.com/Vbq0mqTIjB — Jake Lucky (@JakeSucky) December 23, 2021 As shown in a couple screenshots, Z’s mom posted a nice message to her son on his birthday. She mentioned missing and loving him on his first birthday they won’t be able to celebrate together. But someone, by the name of ‘miizchif,’ was inspired by this tender relationship. Replying to Z’s mother, miizchif gave an offer: “Please scan sweet Zack’s computer for any interesting files. I’ll pay $5k.” In the giving spirit of birthday wishes and the holidays, Miizchif explained that they don’t want to “expose” ZLaner. They simply “want to use it too,” with “it” referring to whatever interesting software might be on the streamer’s computer or USB drive. Despite RICOCHET Anti-Cheat shutting down most hackers, some cheaters still bypass it. Additionally, accusers are convinced that the hacking streamers are whitelisted anyway. Whatever the case may be, this could be an easy way to make some quick money if Z and his mom are interested. We’ll be sure to update if she takes the curious fan up on their offer.

  • Warzone gurus JGOD & TrueGameData explain why “melee lunge” doesn’t exist – Dexerto

Warzone gurus JGOD & TrueGameData explain why “melee lunge” doesn’t exist ActivisionWarzone experts JGOD and TrueGameData have responded to calls from the community to nerf melee lunge by saying it’s not possible to fix something that doesn’t exist. There are many different Warzone analysts in the scene, but none are more trusted than the likes of JGOD and TrueGameData. These two are usually defining the pro weapon meta, finding secret changes, and giving tips to improve a player’s gameplay. Now, they are shutting down a long community cry, where players are asking for melee lunge to be nerfed, If you have spent any time on Warzone, then you most certainly have had your share of “unfair” melee deaths. Lunging has been a large complaint ever since Warzone came out. From countless calls to nerfing the damage to the ground it covers, players have been vocal, but their request can’t be fulfilled. JGOD & TrueGameData shut down rumors of melee lunge In response to a Twitter clip where a player demanded that Raven Software “nerf melee lunge” JGOD laughed at the victim as he said that it doesn’t exist in Warzone. JGOD simply referred to this as “desync.” For people that may not know, desync happens when the game does not register where you are on the map. This can happen due to internet connection or server issues. However, when it does occur, you will notice that it looks like you are really far away from someone creating the “lunge.” But in reality, on their end you are synced up right in front of them so it looks normal. It’s a known issue with cameras in Warzone, as explained by JGOD, there are many occurrences of desync throughout the game that lead to unusual gunfights. This is what’s causes people to get punched despite being far away. Fellow Warzone expert TGD hopped in and back JGOD by saying, “I’m glad someone out there gets it.” He sees people everyday that complain about this “glitch” but realistically it’s a desync problem that can’t be patched in an update. Overall, the two agreed that melee lunge isn’t broken in Warzone, just that the game has desync issues, which makes it seem like melee is the problem when it’s actually desync.

  • Warzone guru WhosImmortal’s “most overpowered” loadout doesn’t need Overkill – Dexerto

Warzone guru WhosImmortal’s “most overpowered” loadout doesn’t need Overkill Activision / WhosImmortalOverkill is comfortably Warzone’s most popular Perk and the majority of meta setups rely on having two Primary weapons on hand. However, CoD expert WhosImmortal has revealed his “most overpowered” loadout yet, and there’s no Overkill in sight. Warzone Season 3 is rapidly approaching the midway point, and players are still working tirelessly to discover the perfect loadout for Caldera. With weapons from three different CoD entries to choose from, players really are spoiled for choice. When it comes to Perks, though, most meta loadouts feature the same handful of options thanks to the handy bonuses there offer. The most popular is Overkill, giving players the chance to run two Primary weapons at once. However, Warzone guru Whoimmortal has shown off the loadout he believes to be the most “overpowered” in the game right now, and it surprisingly doesn’t have Overkill selected. WhosImmortal’s best Warzone loadout WhosImmortal broke down the loadout in his May 23 video, where he started with an STG44 build. Then, he equipped the Cold Blooded, Restock, and Amped perks, so he finished off his loadout with the AMP 63 as his Secondary. He compared the Vanguard Assault Rifle’s stats to other options in its class and found that its TTK could compete with any of them, but the STG44’s lack of recoil makes it the easiest to use. “Your realistic and your practical TTK is actually going to be far better than with the FARA, with the XM4, with the AK-47,” he explained. Check out his STG44 setup below: Muzzle: MX Silencer – Barrel: VDD 760mm 05B – Optic: G16 2.5x scope – Stock: VDD 27 Precision – Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop – Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 60 Round Mags – Ammo Type: Lengthened – Rear Grip: Polymer Grip – Proficiency: Nerves of Steel – Kit: Fully Loaded – While the STG44 tends to be paired with a close-range primary like the Welgun or Owen Gun, WhosImmortal decided to run the AMP 63 Machine Pistol from BOCW in Warzone, calling his build a “pocket SMG.” Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Barrel: 6.4″ Task Force – Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight – Ammunition: STANAG 30 Rnd – Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap – WhosImmortal justified his choice to use the AMP, saying that freeing up that extra Perk is invaluable in-game: “It gives me the ability to run Restock or Tempered right off the [bat] if I wanted to. Rather than having to wait for that second loadout.” “It’s just immediate gunplay, immediate engagement that you can then push because you don’t have to wait around to get these other Perks,” he continued. If you were skeptical about sacrificing one of your primary guns in favor of grabbing Perks early, WhosImmortal went on to use this layout to break his personal kill record with 33 eliminations. So, perhaps you should consider shaking up your strategy with Warzone Season 3 Reloaded kicking off soon.

  • Warzone guru WhosImmortal proves abandoned Cold War rifle is still overpowered – Dexerto

Warzone guru WhosImmortal proves abandoned Cold War rifle is still overpowered ActivisionNot many people know Warzone quite like WhosImmortal, and he’s brought out the stats to prove that an old Cold War powerhouse weapon is still as strong as ever. It has been more than a year since the DMR first took over the Warzone meta alongside the Mac 10. For a time it was the undisputed king of long-range and is widely considered to be one of the best weapons in the game’s history. While a pair of nerfs eventually dropped it back down the ladder, WhosImmortal thinks the community as a whole is overlooking the gun’s true potential. WhosImmortal explains how the DMR continues to be overpowered in Warzone Immortal first highlighted stats from TrueGameData to make his point. The DMR ranks well ahead of the pack in terms of close-range (18 meters) TTK and only suffers a slight fall-off in the medium range. A few weapons, like the C58, win the intermediate distance battle, but the DMR then spikes again at long-range and plants itself back in the number one spot. The only thing holding the weapon back is the single-shot nature of the gun. As Immortal puts it, this is a “high risk, high reward” choice that will absolutely put your trigger finger to the test: “It’s not as broken as it was before, but if you’re a good player you can make this build insanely overpowered.” The gun also features a ton of flexibility in its attachments which means it can be fine-tuned to fit specific playstyles much better than some of the other meta choices. Most DMR loadouts are anchored in with the Agency Suppressor and Field Agent Foregrip, but after that, there are no hard rules. Aggressive players can slap a No Stock on and take advantage of the extra mobility, while slower players could add the 20.8″ Strike Team barrel on to make it extra punishing at long range. While it may remain a niche choice thanks to the fire rate, all of these things combine to make the DMR the perfect replacement for your usual XM4 or Cold War AK.

  • Warzone guru WhosImmortal explains concerns with Modern Warfare 2 TTK – Dexerto

Warzone guru WhosImmortal explains concerns with Modern Warfare 2 TTK Activision / WhosImmortalModern Warfare 2 is one of the most-anticipated Call of Duty titles in recent memory, and players can’t wait to see what Infinity Ward has in store. However, CoD expert WhosImmortal has explained why he’s worried about the time-to-kill (TTK) in the upcoming installment. The buzz surrounding 2022’s Modern Warfare 2 is growing all the time, especially after its explosive gameplay reveal during Summer Game Fest 2022, showing off some impressive campaign footage. Of course, while the single-player content is a nice distraction, most players come to CoD for the online modes. MW2 multiplayer is gearing up to be the biggest yet, with several classic maps returning and a reworked Gunsmith system. But even though the response to Modern Warfare 2 has been mostly positive so far, CoD expert WhosImmortal has expressed his concern over the game’s TTK in multiplayer. TTK is a vital part of any multiplayer shooter as it affects how long it takes to score a kill or be killed from the moment a weapon is fired. It fundamentally changes the overall feel and pace of a game, and Call of Duty is known to tweak its TTK year upon year. In his June 13 video, WhosImmortal said that TTK was the feature he was “most concerned about for MW2.” He pointed toward Infinity Ward’s previous CoD titles as the source of his worry. “Infinity Ward games usually have a faster TTK,” he explained. “From MW 2019 to now, I think it’s become very clear that the Call of Duty community likes that slightly slower TTK.” 2019’s Modern Warfare had a “ridiculously fast” TTK, while the most recent entry, Vanguard, was also on the quicker end of the spectrum. The YouTuber hoped that Infinity Ward would slow the pace down in 2022 by looking at another game in the series. “Personally, I feel like the [Black Ops] Cold War TTK was a really good spot, it wasn’t super slow, but you had enough time in a gunfight to react,” he added. “It makes things more competitive. It also gives more feel to a gun in a gunfight, it’s not a split second and it’s over.” We’re still waiting for our first in-depth look at Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer, so it’s unclear right now which direction Infinity Ward has gone with the TTK this time around. We’ll have to wait until we get our hands on the Modern Warfare 2 beta to see exactly how fast-paced the game feels.

  • Warzone guru warns players about Windows force quit exploit impacting ranked matches – Dexerto

Warzone guru warns players about Windows force quit exploit impacting ranked matches ActivisionWarzone YouTuber IceManIsaac urged the devs to address an exploit that allows players to earn free Skill Rating without any punishment in Ranked Play. After finding great success with Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play, Treyarch applied the tried and true formula to Warzone. In Season 3, Ranked Play became a first-of-its-kind competitive mode for the battle royale sequel. Just as in multiplayer, players start in the Bronze Division and earn Skill Rating (SR) points to progress through seven different divisions before ultimately earning a coveted Top 250 spot. Players earn SR based on placement, kills, assists, and kills by their squad. To make the grind even harder, a deployment fee deducts SR from a player before the start of every match, and the fee increases as you reach higher divisions. Unfortunately, some cheaters have allegedly discovered a method to avoid losing SR altogether, resulting in unearned Top 250 placements. IceManIsaac claims to catch Warzone cheaters red-handed IceManIsaac claimed there is a “major cheating epidemic” in Warzone Ranked Play. Using the Top 250 leaderboard provided by WZ Ranked, the YouTuber looked at the previous match history of some of the mode’s highest-ranked players. The YouTuber claimed that previously, top players usually reached around 30,000 SR at the end of a season. However, in Season 5, some players have already reached upward of 65,000 SR with weeks still left before a reset. Higher placement points and a lower entry fee make it easier for players to earn SR than before, but something still felt out of place for IceManIsaac. Using the Alt+F4 command is a common way to close an application on a PC, yet IceManIsaac pointed out that when players close out of a Warzone game using that command, they don’t lose SR. IceManIsaac claimed: “People will force close their game the moment they lose, preventing them from losing SR. People are manipulating the system to get more SR for free.” The YouTuber pulled up match facts on WZ Ranked and called out players for having upwards of 28 straight matches of SR gain. Usually, matches take around 30 minutes, but the data showed hour-plus-long gaps of no negative SR losses. And then, to hammer home the point, IceManIsaac showed several stream clips of Top 250 players purposely closing their game on stream right when they died. Abusing SR gains is a problem because players earn rewards at the end of every season based on which division they finish in. So, some players could quite possibly be unfairly missing out on unique weapon skins and operator camos if the cheating allegations are correct.

  • Warzone guru unveils SMG that outguns everything after Season 6 buff – Dexerto

Warzone guru unveils SMG that outguns everything after Season 6 buff ActivisionIf you’re looking for a new SMG to run in Warzone after the Lachmann Sub nerf, well, look no further than the Bas-P. After it’s buff, it can outgun pretty much everything. Even though the Modern Warfare 2 year is coming to an end and will soon pass the baton on to Modern Warfare 3, Warzone has still been getting some updates to tide things over. The start of Season 6 brought about a big raft of weapon changes – including two new weapons – and that shifted the meta just a little bit. However, it’s the recent October 11 update that’s sparked a bigger change. In that, the dominant Lachmann Sub was nerfed – along with the Lockwood 300 shotgun – prompting some players to change their loadouts. And, if you’re looking for a new SMG to take the place of the Lachmann, you’ll want to look at the Bas-P. Best Bas-P loadout for Warzone after Lachmann Sub nerf That’s according to Warzone guru Metaphor, who highlighted the Bas-P as the new best SMG in the battle royale – and it might even be the best gun overall. “The Bas-P was already good and now it is, in my opinion, the best gun in the game,” he said. “This thing is the only SMG in the game that actually feels like a Warzone 1 SMG. It has a very, very good TTK – even at range. If you’re 10 or 15 meters away from somebody and they have an MP5, you are going to win every single time. This gun is super easy.” Even if you’re unfamiliar with the Bas-P, that shouldn’t be a worry. As Metaphor lays out, the SMG works best when you use some familiar attachments, including the VLK LZR 7mw laser, Bruen flash stock, and 9mm Hollow Point rounds. Laser: VLK LZR 7mw – Stock: Bruen Flash V4 stock – Rear Grip: D37 Grip – Ammunition: 9mm Hollow Point – Magazine: 50-round drum – As noted, the Bas-P has been on the fringes for a while. Some Warzone players have played it down in the past, claiming it wasn’t as good as others believed. However, now it’s been buffed, it’s certainly in the conversation to be one of the go-to guns for everyone. So, you’re missing out if you haven’t adopted it yet.

  • Warzone guru unveils secret damage bug that nerfs meta ISO loadout – Dexerto

Warzone guru unveils secret damage bug that nerfs meta ISO loadout ActivisionWarzone expert WhosImmortal has revealed a major problem with the damage profile of the ISO 45 submachine gun, meaning you could be doing less damage than you’re supposed to. The ISO 45 SMG has dominated the Warzone 2 meta for some time now, despite a slight drop-off in popularity following the Season 4 Reloaded update as the Cronen Squall made its return and the X13 Auto and Basilisk pistols flew up the meta rankings. It still remains decently popular though, and is widely used across all modes in the game, though if you’ve ever felt like the gun just isn’t quite hitting the same sometimes, the explanation for that may now be available. That’s because there’s a key difference in damage depending on where you hit someone, and it’s hard to make sense of this, presumably an oversight from the developers. ISO SMG does different damage to different legs As pointed out by WhosImmortal in a tweet, the damage profile for the ISO changes depending on which leg you hit, making it even more important to aim for the chest and head. In his findings, it looks as though the ISO 45 does more damage to an Operator’s right thigh than their left thigh, regardless of range. While it’s only a small difference, it can mean the difference between winning and losing an intense gunfight if you end up having to take one extra shot to kill an opponent. Whether this is intentional or not is unclear, but no doubt if it is an accident, developers Raven Software will aim to address it as soon as possible, even if that means waiting until Season 5.

  • Warzone guru uncovers faster killing loadout than ISO 45 and Lachmann Sub – Dexerto

Warzone guru uncovers faster killing loadout than ISO 45 and Lachmann Sub ActivisionIf someone were to tell you a weapon had a faster time to kill speed than the ISO 45 and Lachmann Sub in Warzone, you would assume it was an SMG. Despite that, IceManIsaac revealed a devastating battle rifle loadout for close-range engagements. Season 5 Reloaded weapon balance changes came and went without any substantial changes to Warzone’s short-range meta. To defend that decision, the Warzone devs claimed: “The Submachine Gun category is very healthy, with a staggering six SMGs falling within a 10-percentage point difference in Kill Death Ratio at the highest.” So, in the aftermath of Warzone’s mid-season update, the Lachmann Sub and ISO 45 still stood tall as everyone’s go-to close-range options. According to WZ Ranked, the Lachmann Sub is the battle royale’s most popular weapon, while the ISO 45 ranks sixth. Although both SMGs shred through enemies almost instantaneously up close, neither has the capability to compete in mid-range fights. IceManIsaac cracked the code by sharing a battle rifle that challenges both short-range meta weapons while also extending further. What is the best sniper support weapon in Warzone Season 5 Reloaded? When choosing a sniper support weapon in WZ, players tend to lean toward weapons that can kill fast and are easy to use. Infinity Ward buffed the Chimera, FR Avancer, and M13C in Season 5 Reloaded, but IceManIsaac claims the Lachmann-762 trumps all three and both meta SMGs. “The Lachmann 7.62 kills just as fast as the ISO and Lachmann up close, but the best part about it is that it out to about 20 or 30 meters before the damage range dropoffs hit.” IceManIsaac explained what inspired him to create a Lachmann-762 loadout. “I needed something that I felt confident clearing out building with but also could reach out to the mid-range, and I couldn’t find something that did both. Using statistics provided by sym.gg, IceManIsaac compared Warzone TTK figures between the Lachmann Sub, ISO 45, Lachmann-762, Chimera, M13C, and STB 556. The YouTuber discovered that the Lachmann-762 kills faster than the ISO 45 and Lachmann Sub from two meters away if you use the battle rifle in fully automatic fire mode. Even more impressive, the ISO 45 and Lachmann Sub suffer from a damage dropoff from eight meters away, but the Lachmann 762 doesn’t suffer its first damage dropoff until 30 meters. Paired with fast movement, ADS, and reload times, the Lachmann-762 truly is a jack of all trades. Best Lachmann-762 loadout Here is IceManIsaac’s go-to Lachmann 762 loadout Muzzle: TY-LR8 (+0.65, +0.28) – Barrel: LM Aurora 90 Barrel (+0.24, -0.15) – Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser (-0.29, -27.97) – Rear Grip: LMK64 Grip (-0.55, -0.29) – Magazine: 30 Round Mag – If the Lachmann-762 doesn’t check every box for you, make sure to check out our choices for the best Warzone loadouts.

  • Warzone guru reveals underrated AR loadout that rivals Lachmann 556 – Dexerto

Warzone guru reveals underrated AR loadout that rivals Lachmann 556 ActivisonSome Warzone community members believe the Lachmann 556 is the best-long-range meta weapon in Season 4. However, TrueGameData revealed an underrated contender flying under everyone’s radar. Warzone’s long-range meta hasn’t seen too much variation since the game launched in November 2022. The RPK reigned supreme in Season 1, the ISO Hemlock dominated Season 2, and everyone used the Cronen Squall in Season 3. Nerfs to the Cronen Squall and ISO Hemlock put an end to both runs, vacating an unoccupied throne. Unlike every other Warzone season we have seen so far, an argument can be made that there is no clear-cut number-one option this season. All eyes tend to point toward the Lachmann 556, HCR-56, SO-14, and TAQ-V being worthy challengers, but TrueGameData also threw in the M13B as an underrated option. What is the best long-range meta weapon in Warzone Season 4? TrueGameData already made a video on Warzone Season 4’s long-range meta. He downplayed hype for the SO-14 and instead argued that the Lachmann 556 is the best long-range weapon in Season 4. Fans in the comment section sounded off and came to the defense of the M13B. TrueGameData went back to his findings and realized the M13B does, in fact, deserve to be in the same tier as the Lachmann 556. “The Lachmann 556 has lower recoil, but I think the M13 makes up for it with the quicker time to kill.” At around 70 meters, the M13B has a 70 millisecond better time-to-kill speed and is quicker in mi-range engagements. Best M13B Warzone loadout Here is TrueGameData’s favorite M13B loadout with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: Komodo Heavy (+0.44, +0.14) – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 (+0.52, +0.30) – Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity (-0.32, +4.06) – Magazine: 60 Round Mag – Optic: Slimline Pro (+2.03, +2.40) – For more, check out our other meta loadouts for Warzone Season 4.

  • Warzone guru reveals “top tier” Tempus Razorback loadout – Dexerto

Warzone guru reveals “top tier” Tempus Razorback loadout ActivisionTrueGameData compiled Warzone TTK and recoil stats for the Tempus Razorback and concluded that the fast-firing AR will seamlessly fit into Season 4’s meta. Sniper rifles indirectly received a buff in the Season 4 update. Player health is being increased from 100 to 150, bringing maximum health up to 300 for a player that is fully armored. This means it requires more shots to down an enemy. However, sniper rifles still have the ability to one-hit-kill an enemy with a successful headshot. So theoretically, an accurate sniper can eliminate enemies much faster than if they used a different weapon. But any good sniper rifle loadout requires a strong sidekick, and TrueGameData made his case for the Tempus Razorback. What is the best sniper support weapon in Warzone? TrueGameData compared the Tempus Razorback’s TTK speed and recoil control to the Cronen Squall and ISO Hemlock. Despite not having exact stats yet for the Cronen Squall after its Season 4 nerf, the YouTuber believes the newly added AR stands toe-to-toe with the battle royale’s most popular weapons. “The Tempus Razorback has faster ADS speeds and much easier recoil to control than the Cronen Squall.” The YouTuber added that the Razorback has an easier-to-control recoil than the Squall. Warzone 2 experts have been scrambling to find a good replacement for the Cronen following the nerfs, and TrueGameData made a strong case for the Razorback. “When you have that slower fire rate with a high amount of recoil, it can make it feel really bouncy and hard to control, but the Razorback has a very fast fire rate, so the amount of shake between each shot is pretty low.” He admitted that LMGs will probably beat out Tempus Razorback in Warzone’s long-range meta, but he expects the new Season 4 AR to be “one of the absolute top-tier choices” for Resurgence maps. “I think this weapon will make a fantastic sniper support weapon. I think it will be one of the best sniper supports for sure.” Best Tempus Razorback Warzone loadout Here is TrueGameData’s best Tempus Razorback loadout. Muzzle: FTAC Castle Comp – Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser – Comb: LTX Eclipse – Rear Grip: Casus X – Magazine: 60 Round Mag – TrueGameData opted to use the FTAC Castle Comp because it improves horizontal and vertical recoil, but he said it comes down to personal preference for which muzzle players want to use. The rest of the loadout focuses on improving sprint to fire and ADS speed and aiming stability. An added benefit is not needing to equip an optic as one of the five attachments. “What’s cool about the Razorback is it has really good iron sights, and I have no problem at all absolutely beaming with this gun.” If you still need to unlock the Tempus Razorback, make sure to check out our handy guide.

  • Warzone guru reveals simple trick to improve Cooper Carbine TTK in Season 4 Reloaded – Dexerto

Warzone guru reveals simple trick to improve Cooper Carbine TTK in Season 4 Reloaded ActivisionWarzone YouTuber IceManIsaac has outlined a simple trick to instantly buff the Cooper Carbine assault rifle, revealing that a certain ammo type dramatically improves time-to-kill (TTK). Warzone Season 4 Reloaded dropped on 28 July, bringing a fresh shake-up to the battle royale’s meta and, barring any shocks, ending the NZ-41’s dominance with a hefty nerf. As a result, devoted Warzone players are seeking out the next dominant weapon and, while only one Cooper Carbine attachment received a buff, the Vanguard assault rifle could become meta as a result of one attachment. In a July 29 YouTube video, Warzone expert and content creator IceManIsaac outlined his go-to loadouts following the Reloaded adjustments. Among the Armaguerra and Marco 5, he highlighted how to instantly buff the Cooper Carbine. IceManIsaac reveals instant trick to buff Cooper Carbine’s TTK Almost all Warzone classes make use of ‘Lengthened’ ammunition, an attachment that augments bullet velocity at no cost to the user. However, the Cooper Carbine has another option – ‘Compressed’ ammo. Instead of targeting bullet velocity it buffs fire rate, taking it to 968rpm instead of the low 800s (depending on the exact set of attachments being used). The result is a significantly improved TTK, pushing it amongst the very best weapons in the game on that particular metric. “[The Compressed ammo] then makes the Cooper significantly better than all of its adversaries,” he said. “It adds a little bit of recoil but is completely negligible… this is by far my favorite weapon for Solos.” Isaac’s full recommended Cooper Carbine loadout is detailed below: Muzzle: MX Silencer – Barrel: 22” Cooper Custom – Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x – Stock: Cooper Custom Padded – Perk: Tight Grip – Perk 2: On-Hand – Rear Grip: Hatched Grip – Magazine: 9mm 60 Round Drums – Ammunition: Compressed Rounds – Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop – Timestamp: 2:10 As the AR’s base fire rate is already high, players should definitely rock the 60 Round Drums to minimize reloading and stay in the action for as long as possible. If you do struggle with recoil control you can stick with Lengthened but, provided you hit your shots, Compressed Ammo will kill as quickly as possible.

  • Warzone guru reveals secret attachment to replace one-shot sniping – Dexerto

Warzone guru reveals secret attachment to replace one-shot sniping ActivisionDespite Warzone 2 adding one-shot sniping after popular demand, Metaphor argued high-velocity ammunition offers more than explosive rounds. Season 3 returned sniper rifles to their former glory in Warzone. The update made it possible for bolt-action rifles to down fully armored players in one shot by equipping explosive ammunition. This applies to the MCPR-300, FJX Imperium, and Victus XMR. However, explosive ammunition doesn’t come without its weaknesses. The ammunition type increases damage range by a whopping 40% but also reduces bullet velocity by 40%. This makes it harder to line up shots, as the rifles suffer from extreme bullet drop-off. And to make matters worse, the devs nerfed explosive ammunition bullet velocity by a further 25% in Season 3 Reloaded. Despite that, players still gravitate towards one-shot snipers, and Metaphor asked why. Metaphor downplays importance of one-shot sniping in Warzone High-velocity ammunition increases bullet velocity and doesn’t suffer the same drop-off penalty as explosive rounds. Metaphor tested high velocity ammunition for one round and concluded: “I want to shout out to the high-velocity ammunition. I truly believe that there is no competition if you are good enough with the ammunition. At extremely long range, you get insane bullet velocity.” Metaphor explained that transitioning from one-shot sniping to a normal build is “quite massive” as players can “shoot people you normally wouldn’t be able to with ease.” The YouTuber believes that using a sniper without explosive rounds is “viable” and could sometimes give players a leg up in certain engagements. Best SPX-80 Warzone loadout Barrel: 22.5″ Elevate-11 (0.00, -0.40) – Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser (-0.24, -47.71) – Ammunition: .300 High Velocity (+0.70, +9.00) – Stock: MAX DMR Precision (-4.00, +2.40) – Rear Grip: Schlager Match Grip (-1.00, +0.45) – Players can use .300 High velocity on any rifle, so check out our guide on the best Warzone sniper rifles if the SPX-80 doesn’t get the job done.

  • Warzone guru reveals secret attachment that beats meta ISO 45 – Dexerto

Warzone guru reveals secret attachment that beats meta ISO 45 ActivisionSeason 4 added a new attachment to the FTAC Siege, and Warzone expert Metaphor argued that it elevates the pistol above the ISO 45. Akimbo pistols dominated Warzone 2’s close-range meta in Season 1. In the mid-season update, Infinity Ward stepped in and nerfed dual-wielding pistols damage to armored enemies. Season 3 Reloaded briefly restored the class to its former glory by introducing the FTAC Siege and GS Magna. Both pistols didn’t survive long in the meta as the devs swiftly reduced pistol amor and headshot damage. The Season 4 update subtly nerfed SMGs, opening a small window of opportunity for Akimbo pistols to re-enter meta conversations. What is the best close-range weapon in Warzone 2 Season 4? According to WZ Ranked, the ISO 45 is far-and-away Warzone’s most popular weapon, with a 22% pick rate. However, Season 4 added new damage ranges to SMGs, limiting their viability in medium to long-range engagements. With SMGs reduced to only being able to take on short-range fights, shotguns and akimbo pistols are relevant again. The latest season update also introduced an Akimbo attachment for the FTAC Siege. All you need to do in order to unlock the attachment is tally 25 hip-fire kills with the fast-firing pistol. This can easily be accomplished in one or two Shipment matches. Metaphor tested out the new attachment and couldn’t believe how “insane” of a difference it makes. “These things are absolutely twisted. The only problem is that they suck at range. But I just pushed people and have been absolutely rinsing them with this class setup.” “I highly recommend giving this weapon a try. It’s super easy to use, and it honestly feels cheap.” Best FTAC Siege Warzone loadout Muzzle: XRK Sandstorm (+0.90, +0.35) – Laser: 1MW Pistol Laser (-0.15, +51.00) – Rear Grip: Akimbo FTAC Siege – Ammunition: 72 Round Drum – Magazine: 9mm Overpressured (+0.70, +9.00) – For more, check out the rest of our Warzone Season 4 meta loadouts.

  • Warzone guru reveals best replacement for Kastov 762 in Season 6 – Dexerto

Warzone guru reveals best replacement for Kastov 762 in Season 6 ActivisionFinding a better long-range weapon than the Kastov 762 was always going to be a tough task, but Warzone expert IceManIsaac believes he finally cracked the case. Despite offering a large selection of weapons, only a few typically emerge as favorites each Warzone season. When the next update rolls around, the devs usually respond by nerfing the most popular weapon. However, the Kastov 762 has quite possibly overstayed its welcome, reigning as the best long-range weapon through Seasons 5 and the start of 6. The hard-hitting AR saw nerf to its close and mid damage in Season 6, but that wasn’t enough to take the giant down. According to WZ Ranked, the Kastov still leads all weapons by a large margin with a 29.7% pick rate. Warzone’s next most popular AR comes in with a measly 3.3% pick rate. One could argue that the class desperately needed a shakeup, and luckily, Season 6 introduced a brand new competitor. IceManIsaac crowns TR-76 Geist as best primary weapon in Warzone Season 6 Season 6 introduced the TR-76 Geist as a new AR. IceManIsaac pointed out that professional Warzone player and WSOW 2023 winner Shifty switched from the Kastov 762 to the TR-76 Geist, which intrigued him to give the weapon a go. The YouTuber claimed: “This is what I am using in Ranked, and it allowed me to hit number 30 in the world, and it’s still my favorite pub gun right now.” IceManIsaac also relied upon the AR to help him earn the brand-new Nuke camo. Best TR-76 Geist Warzone loadout Here is IceManIsaac’s preferred TR-76 Geist loadout. Muzzle: TY-LR8 – Barrel: Bruen Briddle Heavy – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 – Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity – Magazine: 45 Round Mag – IceManIaac claimed: “I think this gun sucks unless you have high velocity, which changes how this gun feels completely.” The YouTuber also doesn’t believe players need to use an optic because the AR has a “beautiful iron sight” that gives players a clear vision of what they are shooting at. One downside of the TR-76 Geist is a hard-to-control recoil pattern. To help make the AR easier to fire, IceManIsaac recommends using the TY-LR8, which helps cut down on horizontal weapon shake. If you still haven’t unlocked the exciting new AR, make sure to check out our step-by-step guide.

  • Warzone guru reveals best AR loadout after Season 4 TTK changes – Dexerto

Warzone guru reveals best AR loadout after Season 4 TTK changes ActivisonThe Kastov 762 doesn’t rank high in Warzone popularity rankings, and Metaphor explained why underestimating the hard-hitting AR in Season 4 is a mistake. Operator base health increased from 100 to 150 in Season 4, bringing maximum health up to 300 for a player that is fully armored. This means it takes more shots to dispatch enemies. Weapons with fast time-to-kill speeds will thrive after the latest change. The Cronen Squall looked to fit that mold perfectly, but a long-awaited nerf in the latest seasonal update ended its reign of terror. Sniper rifles also benefitted from the TTK changes, as they are still able to one-shot kill enemies despite increased health. Infinity Ward caught wind of players abusing one-shot snipers and fire shotguns, and swiftly nipped that trend in the bud by banning both weapons in Ranked Play. With nowhere else to turn, Metaphor pointed out the Kastov 762 as a must-use weapon. What is the best AR in Warzone Season 4? Metaphor created a hard-hitting loadout combination of the Kastov 762 and ISO 45. “A lot of people are sleeping on the AK. But, given the fact that they increased health by 50, this gun moves up a lot because it does so much freaking damage.” The Kastov 762 boasts an impressive TTK speed of 679 milliseconds after the Season 4 update, which ranks among the best for ARs. An immense amount of firepower makes the weapon a compelling long-range option. “I highly recommend giving this a try if you haven’t already.” Best Kastov 762 Season 4 Warzone loadout Here is Metaphor’s Kastov 762 loadout with attachment tuning included. • Warzone guru outlines LMG set to dominate with “phenomenal” TTK in Urzikstan Season 1 – Dexerto

Warzone guru outlines LMG set to dominate with “phenomenal” TTK in Urzikstan Season 1 ActivisionCall of Duty guru WhosImmortal has highlighted an LMG with a “phenomenal” TTK that should be one of the meta picks in Warzone when the Urzikstan update rolls around. When Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 launched at the start of November, plenty of Warzone fans were annoyed that the battle royale side of things would have to go on the back burner for a few weeks. Warzone is, of course, still live, but the new Urzikstan map is not, nor is the integration with Modern Warfare 3. That is all set to happen at the start of December when Season 1 for both MW3 and the battle royale finally get underway. In the build-up to that, though, players have been leveling up weapons to get ahead of the curve. Some have focused on ARs like the MCW and MTZ 556, while others have gone for snipers given they’re supposed to be one-shot kills moving forward. MW3’s Pulemyot 762 set to dominate after Urzikstan update However, WhosImmortal is going in a different direction. In his November 27 video, the Warzone guru pointed to the Pulemyot 762 LMG as one gun players need to level up due to its “phenomenal” TTK. “It’s base stats here are going to be fantastic. It’s overall TTK, damage per mag, obviously, since it’s an LMG are going to be phenomenal,” he said before pointing to the JAK annihilator bullpup conversion kit as being a “huge” help. “This thing completely changes this from, what is a super heavy, slow LMG into a really fun, LMG-AR sort of hybrid,” WhosImmortal added. “It’s advanced stats are absolutely nuts.” Timestamp of 2:20 The YouTuber noted that the conversion does affect the Pulemyot’s range, but it adds so much in terms of mobility, rate of fire, and ADS speed that it’ll be a dominant mid-range weapon. It ultimately remains to be seen which weapons will quickly take over the meta once Urzikstan goes live, but the LMG is certainly in prime position.

  • Warzone guru outlines “crazy OP” attachment making SMGs deadlier than ever – Dexerto

Warzone guru outlines “crazy OP” attachment making SMGs deadlier than ever Activision BlizzardWarzone 2 guru IceManIsaac has highlighted a “crazy OP” attachment that is making certain SMGs even deadlier than before. As Call of Duty’s create-a-class system has gotten incredibly more in-depth over the last few years, players have been able to tweak and tune weapons to their heart’s content. You can go all-in on nerfing recoil and you can change assault rifles into pseudo SMGs. Naturally, the system has created some headaches as well. Some attachments have been seen as a little too overpowered following an update to Warzone and some have flat-out not existed. The former of this has led players to hop on and change their classes – even if the guns benefitting from the mistake were barely used beforehand. Well, in Season 5 Reloaded, stats guru IceManIsaac has uncovered an attachment for certain SMGs that is “incredibly broken” right now. Incredibly broken attachment is buffing Warzone SMGs in a big way The attachment in question is the 9mm Hollow Point rounds for, well, 9mm SMGs like the Lachmann Sub, BAS-P, and Lachmann Shroud, among others. “We’re going to have a dedicated video in the future on Hollow Point, it’s incredibly broken. It’s like putting stun grenades in your bullets,” he said in his September 6 video. “I thought they were going to patch it sooner but they never have, so now I’m going to make it a problem and tell everyone in the world to run it. Hollow Point is crazy OP.” Isaac’s take that it is like “putting stun grenades in your bullets” is due to Hollow Point’s increased Crippling Power when shots are landed. Enemies are staggered for a brief moment, but it does come at the cost of bullet velocity which, well, is what matters most in the battle royale these days. Timestamp of 9:30 The Lachmann Sub has benefitted most from the recent changes, given that the FT Mobile Stock was buffed in Season 5 Reloaded to give players a mobility boost. Combining the deadly ammunition with an increased mobility stock, as well as a compensator to keep you on target, and your 9mm using SMGs are going to do serious damage.

  • Warzone guru JGOD shows why OTs 9 is still the best SMG for controller players – Dexerto

Warzone guru JGOD shows why OTs 9 is still the best SMG for controller players Twitter, @JGODYT / ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players are still trying to figure out the meta as Season 5 wraps up and JGOD might have an answer. The YouTuber revealed that the OTs 9 is still the best SMG after nerfs, especially for controller players. You can’t only consider how fast a gun kills its opponents when you’re weighing its place in the meta. TTK (time-to-kill) is a valuable metric, but, with close-range, high-mobility guns in particular, other factors come into play. So, when JGOD tasked himself with determining the optical secondary loadout, he called on a variety of aspects: mobility (movement speed, strafe speed, etc.), iron sights, recoil control, and, of course, damage. Looking at the two most popular submachine guns, the OTs 9 and Cold War MP5, JGOD explained why the OTs is still king of the castle. And this might be surprising to some, since it got nerfed on September 15. JGOD’s best Warzone OTs 9 loadout for controller When the OTs got nerfed most recently, the devs hurt most of its damage, slightly upped its recoil, and buffed its headshot multiplier. After those changes, JGOD’s class emphasizes a mix of mobility and TTK: Muzzle: GRU Suppressor – Barrel: 8.1” Task Force – Ammunition: VDV 40 Rnd Fast Mag – Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap – Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock – Unlike the traditional OTs class, this one prioritizes a Serpent Wrap over Tiger Team to increase ADS (aim-down-sight) speed. And, even after the nerfs, he still thinks this gun is the best SMG around. To show this, the Verdansk analyst’s video shows differences in everything from recoil to how much of your screen the gun covers — but also in-depth statistics. OTs 9 vs MP5: Mobility, damage, recoil As you can see, looking at just the two most statistically dominant SMGs, the CW MP5 actually outclasses the OTs in terms of damage per mag, raw movement speed, and damage at range. But the OTs has some key traits that make it perfect for controller players, who prefer easier recoil control and weirder movement potential. As such, the OTs 9’s untouched strafe speeds, reload time, recoil control, and iron sights are all massive perks. With most of the other elements being fairly even, JGOD solidifies the OTs as the top SMG around for controller players. It’s comfortable to handle, does a lot of damage, and lets you bring out cracked movement — all explaining why its users average a top-tier 1.49 K/D. If you want to mess around with loadouts yourself though, you can check out TrueGameData for some interesting statistical options.

  • Warzone guru JGOD shows how kill cams can make normal players look like hackers – Dexerto

Warzone guru JGOD shows how kill cams can make normal players look like hackers Twitter, @JGODYT / ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone and hackers have a storied history. But JGOD, using a Dr Disrespect clip, shows why “de-synced” kill cams can make normal players get unfairly accused of cheating. Whether in casual or competitive environments, accusations against hackers run as rampant as actual cheaters in Warzone lobbies. And one situation escalated to the point where trusted content creator JGOD had to step in and mediate. During ZLaner’s $50,000 tournament, a player seemed to kill Dr Disrespect in a highly suspicious fashion. The kill cam lets you see how you were taken down and, in Doc’s case, things looked very bizarre — with hit markers seeming to pop up without crosshairs lining up accurately. With hacks like silent aim existing in the game, Doc’s team was rightfully concerned about the kill. But, as JGOD showed with clips comparing POVs, it appears that it was simply a bugged kill cam — raising questions about accusations, generally. Crazy how desynced Kill cams can be. Can see bottom one get a hitmarker at 0:21 before the weapon is even drawn whereas the top one is fully aimed down sight. https://t.co/WiIZKOg7d9 pic.twitter.com/YJ4H5M53FE — James – JGOD (@JGODYT) September 3, 2021 As you can see from Doc’s POV, it looks like the enemy is getting hit markers before even aiming down sights at him. And that’s reasonably suspicious, as silent aim essentially looks the same. But, as JGOD points out, the killer’s POV already shows the gun drawn and aimed in before hit markers start popping up. Essentially, the play wasn’t suspicious at all — there’s just spectator lag making the gameplay look illegitimate. Additional factors were brought up in response to JGOD, with popular CoD caster Maven noting that “kill cams are atrocious, but especially bad when it’s a player with high ping like this.” So this leaves us with some clear takeaways. The first is that we can’t rely on kill cams to paint an accurate story and the second is that it’ll be nice to have an anti-cheat so that players aren’t dissecting their kill cams out of paranoia.

  • Warzone guru JGOD reveals “insanely good” Vargo 52 loadout with no recoil – Dexerto

Warzone guru JGOD reveals “insanely good” Vargo 52 loadout with no recoil The Warzone guru himself, JGOD, has unveiled his best Vargo 52 loadout that’s “insanely good” long-range meta weapon. Treyarch surprised players with an unexpected Black Ops Cold War update on March 4, marking the first patch of 2022 for the CoD title. The brought update a few new additions to bring a breath of fresh air to the game, most noteworthy being a map and new weapon – the Vargo 52. Now, popular Warzone creator JGOD has shown off the best Vargo 52 loadout for the new Black Ops Cold War AR. JGOD unveils the best Vargo 52 loadout Shortly after the release of the Vargo 52, JGOD took a look at the new weapon in a YouTube video on March 4. After testing out the AR, he concluded that the ADS speed is noticeably slow. Continuing, the popular Warzone creator noted that the Vargo 52’s recoil pattern is quite similar to the FFAR and the XM4, as well as adding that the TTK on the new AR is comparable. JGOD added that he believes the new Vargo 52 will be a “monster” when playing both the regular battle royale and Rebirth Island. Below we’ve listed his setup with the best attachments: Vargo 52 loadout Muzzle: GRU Suppressor – Lazer: Microflex LED – Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip – Magazine: 45 Rnd – Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap – As explained in JGOD’s video, the Vargo 52 has an RPM of 800, compared to the XM4’s 721 – making it more forgiving if you miss a few shots. The new AR is best utilized in a sniper-support class, as its TTK not only dominated at short-range but does pretty impressively at long-range as well. So there you have it, next time you drop into Warzone, give this new Vargo 52 loadout a try once you’ve unlocked it.

  • Warzone guru JGOD proves Kar98’s thermal scope gives surprising buff – Dexerto

Warzone guru JGOD proves Kar98’s thermal scope gives surprising buff Twitter, @JGODYT / ActivisionFew Call of Duty: Warzone players are enamored with Vanguard’s Kar98. It feels worse than its Modern Warfare counterpart, but JGOD revealed a thermal scope could change things… as it buffs the ADS a wild amount. That’s right. It’s 2021 and the notorious thermal and night-vision scopes are no longer just for boomers. In fact, if you’re trying to snipe aggressively in Warzone Pacific, you should probably slap a thermal on. In Pacific’s Vanguard Royale modes, you can only use weapons from the new game. And, if you’ve been keeping track of nerfs to the older titles’ snipers, it’s probably worth practicing with Vanguard’s options anyway. So knowing about Vanguard’s Kar98k is useful and, as JGOD demonstrates, the gun’s night-vision scope is beastly. In fact, it gives a whopping 40% buff to ADS speed when compared to the default. JGOD shows Warzone Kar98k gets ADS buff with thermal scope Sure many of you have seen that the Night vision Optic makes the Kar98k way Faster ADS, but here is a side by side. 250ms Faster, which is a 40% improvement. Will get patched at some point LOL pic.twitter.com/aEZFuqwRcY — James – JGOD (@JGODYT) December 14, 2021 In a December 14 tweet, JGOD shows a side-by-side comparison between Vanguard’s Kar98 ADS on the night-vision scope and the default. In the caption, he explained that the speed is 250ms faster — a nutty 40% increase. For aggressive players who like to use the sniper as a long-range option in a variety of engagements, that buff is massive. It gives you much more time to contest someone lining up low-recoil Automaton shots and would be a huge advantage against someone using a default scope. In other tweets, JGOD revealed that practically every optic on the Kar98k is faster than the default scope. This is somewhat puzzling to players, as it was absolutely not the case with Modern Warfare’s version or Black Ops Cold War’s Swiss K31. Others have brought up the 10x scope for the Vanguard Kar98, but it remains unclear precisely which scope is fastest at the moment. While Warzone analysts like JGOD and TrueGameData dive into the numbers, any hopeful snipers should make use of this information. If you want to hit quick headshots, embrace your inner boomer and toss on a thermal — because the default simply isn’t cutting it.

  • Warzone guru JGOD projects meta after mid-season patch’s buffs & nerfs – Dexerto

Warzone guru JGOD projects meta after mid-season patch’s buffs & nerfs Twitter, @JGODYT / ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone’s resident gun guru, JGOD, has simplified and explained all the buffs and nerfs in the mid-season update. For confused fans everywhere, the battle royale’s weapon analyst explained what’s changed and what that might mean for the meta. There is no firing range in Warzone and it’s not exactly easy for players to test weapons out in the heat of battle. So, instead of struggling to parse through patch notes and figure out what means what, JGOD saves the day. The Warzone YouTuber is best known for giving out meta loadouts with each patch, but a new role has emerged. After Warzone’s mid-season patch notes proved confusing to players, JGOD decided to translate the information for confused players. In a series of tweets, the gun guru broke down which guns were buffed or nerfed. Going further, he also elaborated on some of those changes and what that might mean for the meta moving forward. JGOD breaks down Warzone update buffs and nerfs As JGOD recaps, five guns were buffed in the mid-season patch: the STG, BAR, Automaton, AS44, and NZ41. In contrast, four guns were nerfed: the Bren, MP40, Einhorn Revolving, and Double Barrel Shotgun. And, finally, one was adjusted: the Cooper Carbine. In regards to what that truly means for the meta, there’s still more experimenting to do but JGOD does have some early reactions. Warzone meta after Bren and MP-40 nerfs It kills faster, easy to use, more ammo, and about the same Rate of Fire or Faster. — James – JGOD (@JGODYT) January 13, 2022 For those worried about the MP-40, JGOD isn’t worried about its nerfs – saying that “they basically did nothing to it.” That doesn’t mean it’ll be meta, though, as he has also noted how good the new Welgun is. Speaking about the new SMG, compared to the MP-40, the YouTuber claimed that “it kills faster, easy to use, more ammo, and about the same rate of fire or faster.” That alone is enough reason to start leveling it up. As for long-range weapons, all of the buffed ARs are in contention for the meta, but JGOD specified that the “AS44 could be huge.”

  • Warzone guru highlights simple trick to get loadout fast on Fortune’s Keep – Dexerto

Warzone guru highlights simple trick to get loadout fast on Fortune’s Keep ActivisionWant to be able to get your favorite loadout within a few minutes of landing on Fortune’s Keep? Well, Warzone guru IceManIsaac has highlighted a strategy that “no one” is using. While Warzone follows the classic battle royale formula of being able to pick up items from the ground, it does have its own Call of Duty-themed wrinkles that set it apart from its rival. The biggest of these is, undoubtedly, the ability to grab a pre-set loadout of your favorite weapons and equipment instead of being stuck using weapons that you find on the ground or pick up from other players. Grabbing your loadout is simple, you just need $7500 to buy a drop from the buy station, but it can take a little while to gather up enough cash. Though, there is a way to get one pretty quickly and have your favorite weapons from the start of the game. The simple yet genius trick was highlighted by NRG’s IceManIsaac, as he explained that you should be grabbing Top Secret Contracts as soon as you land on Fortune’s Keep. The YouTuber claimed that “no one” is running the tactic and that it works in every playlist – no matter if you’re running as a solo or part of a squad of four. You just have to land on the contract, complete it, and you’ll get $8000. This is enough to buy a loadout, and it doesn’t take much time at all – especially if you get the Supply Run, given all the boxes will be bunched close together and not spread out like they are on other maps. Plus, you’ll also get a UAV, which can be used to snowball into further kills and even more money. “I promise, no one has been rocking this Top Secret strat. I pretty much land on these uncontested every game, but you have to be taking advantage of it if you want a fast loadout,” the YouTuber added. As good as the strategy is, some players just want to get in and start killing enemies rather than running around with no action. Though, don’t be surprised if more players start dropping on the contracts.

  • Warzone guru exposes instant kill glitch plaguing Ranked Play lobbies – Dexerto

Warzone guru exposes instant kill glitch plaguing Ranked Play lobbies ActivisionWarzone expert IceManIsaac slammed the devs for not addressing an instant knife kill glitch plaguing Ranked Play matches. Treyarch has had their hands full when it comes to restricting items in Warzone Ranked Play. Based on community feedback, the devs have already banned one-shot snipers and fire shotguns, along with Cluster Mine and Bomb Drones. And then, IceManIsaac urged players to flood lobbies with RPGs to show how broken they are. The call-to-action worked as Treyarch banned the RPG-7 and Streal-P. Now the YouTuber is attempting to employ the same mobilization strategy with a knife exploit. IceManIsaac slams one-shot knife issue in Warzone IceManIsaac called out the Warzone devs for not addressing a one-shot knife bug that has allegedly been a problem for weeks. Throwing knives are designed to one-hit down an enemy when struck from the chest up, but meleeing is not supposed to kill enemies in one strike. “There is a bug right now where you can one-shot knife anybody in the game, and it’s been an issue for a while.” To pull off the exploit, players must aim for an enemy’s upper chest and melee them, and it works even if they have full armor. Warzone pro-Braalik showed off how devastating the bug can be by easily dispatching six players with a knife. Braalik added: “If this clip ain’t enough to get this fixed, then I don’t know. Please get it out. People are abusing this in ranked as well.” And to make matters worse, the bug is especially overpowered while fighting within the smoke of a grenade. IceManIsacc explained that firing at a smoke grenade removes aim assist, but players can instead wildly lunge their knife while in the smoke and get easy kills. Other Warzone content creators highlighted the issue as well. OMiT Otter and Flxnked shared clips of taking down entire trios with just knives. Rubbing salt in the wound, Season 5 Reloaded introduces a new melee weapon for players to abuse in Ranked Play and standard lobbies.

  • Warzone guru explains why the SO-14 isn’t Season 4’s best weapon – Dexerto

Warzone guru explains why the SO-14 isn’t Season 4’s best weapon ActivisionTrueGameData compared the SO-14 in Warzone Season 4 to the infamous DMR-14 meta from WZ1, but he feels like it isn’t quite as good a weapon as many others believe. Season 4 blew Warzone’s long-range meta wide open. Infinity Ward finally nerfed the Cronen Squall, removing the battle rifle from its throne. And a 50-point increase in base operator health swung tides in favor of LMGs over ARs. There doesn’t seem to be a clear consensus for the best long-range weapon in the Cronen Squall’s wake, but the SO-14 skyrocketed in popularity. According to WZRanked, the SO-14 is the second-most selected weapon in Warzone. TrueGameData feels differently and, while he thinks the battle rifle is good, he believes a weapon 30 spots lower in the popularity rankings is the better choice. TrueGameData warns Warzone players about the SO-14 TrueGameData explained how the SO-14’s impressive stats are slightly fraudulent. “It has great time-to-kill but this is a theoretical TTK that is the maximum possible. In reality the SO-14’s maximum fire rate is 500 RPM, but nobody can click that fast so this really isn’t accurate.” So even though the SO-14 blows away every other long-range meta weapon in TTK speed, those numbers aren’t actually accurate in-game. “A lot of people think the SO-14 is far and above the best weapon in the game right now. I think it is probably very good, but It takes a lot of skill to use.” The YouTuber then compared the SO-14 and TAQ V damage stats in single-fire. The SO-14 is easier to control in single fire and harder to control in automatic fire, and the TAQ-V is the inverse. Both weapons do around the same damage while firing semi-auto. But TrueGameData knows what he will be rocking with. “I will probably use the TAQ-V. It feels really good and I like to use automatic weapons more than semi-automatic weapons.” Best TAQ-V Warzone loadout Muzzle: Tempus GH50 (+0.39, +0.27) – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 (+0.52, +0.32) – Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity (-0.27, +2.90) – Magazine: 50 Round Drum – Optic: Hyrbird Firepoint – For more, make sure to check out every other loadout we are using in Warzone Season 4.

  • Warzone guru explains how Volk nerf actually “buffed” deadly SMG – Dexerto

Warzone guru explains how Volk nerf actually “buffed” deadly SMG ActivisionWarzone expert ItsMetaphor has explained that the recent nerf to the Volk hasn’t done all that much to impact the SMG as it’s actually buffed it in his eyes. With the start of Warzone Season 3, Raven Software shook up the battle royale’s meta in a way that we’ve not seen in quite some time with a wide-ranging number of weapon tweaks. Those buffs and nerfs have continued throughout the season, with the Season 3 Reloaded update further shaking up the meta – with some underused Vanguard weapons being buffed to make them a little more viable. One Vanguard weapon that was nerfed, however, was the Volk – the powerful SMG that has risen up the popularity charts over the last few months. Though, according to Metaphor, the nerf isn’t all that bad as he believes the weapon has actually been buffed thanks to the changes. The Warzone YouTuber highlighted the change in his May 28 video, noting the SMG’s strafe speed was lowered in the recent patch, but you can get around it by opting for different attachments. “A lot of you guys might be thinking ‘oh it got nerfed, not buffed because they lowered the strafe speed’ and while you would be correct, if you guys do remember correctly, the old build had the Hand Stop underbarrel which can easily be replaced by the M3 Ready Grip,” Metaphor. According to the YouTuber, changing to the M3 Ready Grip actually gives you “more strafe speed than ever before” but it does come with the trade-off of a little more recoil. Combined with the SMG’s headshot multiplier being increased, Metaphors believes it is as strong as ever, especially in Solos. Timestamp of 0:35 The M3 Ready Grip has already dethroned the likes of the Hand Stop underbarrel and Carver Foregrip as players have jumped to change their loadouts in response to the nerf. Of course, as we’ve seen before, if a change doesn’t work as planned the devs will put a weapon back under the knife and change it further. So, we’ll have to wait and see what happens with the Volk.

  • Warzone guru claims Season 6 nerfs “obliterated” Kastov 762 & TR-76 Geist – Dexerto

Warzone guru claims Season 6 nerfs “obliterated” Kastov 762 & TR-76 Geist ActivisionAfter dominating Warzone’s long-range meta for over a season, the Kastov 762 and TR-76 Geist‘s reign of terror appears to be over. At the start of Season 6, the Kastov 762 led all weapons by a large margin with a 31.6% pick rate. Infinity Ward responded by nerfing the AR’s close damage and range and decreasing its head, neck, and upper torso damage multipliers. Despite trying, the nerf wasn’t enough to knock the hard-hitting rifle off its pedestal. In the absence of a substantial enough nerf, Season 6 introduced the TR-76 Geist. And it took no time at all for the new bullpup assault rifle to give the Kastov 762 a run for its money. Both rifles offered fantastic long-range capabilities while still holding their own up close. With just a few weeks remaining on Al Mazrah, Infinity Ward just blew the battle royale’s long-range meta wide open by nerfing both ARs. TrueGameData reveals extent of Kastov 762 and TR-76 Geist Warzone nerfs On October 23, the Kastov 762 suffered nerfs to close to mid damage and head, neck, and upper torso damage multipliers. Meanwhile, the TR-76 Geist saw nerfs to its damage at all ranges and head and limb damage multipliers. It’s impossible to tell how significant the changes are without precise damage values in the Warzone patch notes. Fortunately, TrueGameData revealed how substantial both nerfs will be on the game’s meta. The Kastov 762 takes one extra shot to kill for all extremities in the 28-41 meter range, which the YouTuber argued is the most important area for ARs. As a result, TrueGameData argued: “It’s a pretty big nerf. The actual damage has changed a lot across all ranges, so it’s going to feel quite a bit weaker.” Next, TrueGameData claimed the TR-76 Geist got “absolutely obliterated” in the update. Within the 25-35 meter range, the ARs damage values got significantly decreased. Post-patch, the AR takes one more bullet to kill at all ranges. The YouTuber concluded: “The Geist got destroyed in this patch. I don’t see it being a meta contender at all anymore.” What new AR or Battle Rifle will fill the void remains to be seen. But stay locked into our best Warzone loadout guide for an answer.

  • Warzone guru bemoans “worst” sniper attachment ever in BlackCell bundle – Dexerto

Warzone guru bemoans “worst” sniper attachment ever in BlackCell bundle ActivisionA Warzone guru has hit out at one of the new BlackCell bundles that gives you the “worst” scope for any sniper in the battle royale. Across Warzone and Warzone 2.0, players have had a few complaints with different bundles – be it for skins or weapon blueprints. The biggest headaches have come from “pay to win” bundles that, in some cases, have given players a competitive advantage when they’re not supposed to. This has included weapons doing more damage than advertised, skins being invisible in the dark, and a few other things. On the flip side, there are some bundles that are viewed as “pay to lose.” As the name suggests, they actively work against you despite the fact you’ve shelled out for them. And, well, there is a new one that could fall under that tag. Warzone guru bemoans “worst” scope that you have to pay for The BlackCell version of the Sudden Death MCPR-300 was highlighted by Warzone guru Metaphor, as he had a few complaints about it – even saying it has the “worst” scope in the battle royale. “I originally thought this was just going to be a cool skin that I got in my BlackCell bundle but I regret to inform you that this gun is not what it seems,” the YouTuber said. “It’s unbelievable how bad it is. You actually pay money to get the worst possible scope.” The issue with the Heavy Weight BlackCell optic on this sniper is that it covers a fair amount of the screen and the colors you get to choose from are hardly conducive to gunfights. Some players echoed Metaphor’s thoughts too. “I tried this scope and thought the same thing,” one said. “A Blackcell sight being worse than the regular one is the story of the Blackcell’s life lol,” another said. Other players suggested it may be better on nighttime maps, but even then they weren’t completely sold. “It looks so bad I don’t think it being nighttime would help,” said another.

  • Warzone gun expert reveals “absolute meta” loadout with insane TTK – Dexerto

Warzone gun expert reveals “absolute meta” loadout with insane TTK ActivisionWarzone players are always looking for possible meta weapons. Luckily, gun analyst TrueGameData is ahead of the game as he showcased a loadout with two weapons that have slid under that radar, the BAR and Type 100. The meta has been pretty set since the move to the Pacific. The MP-40, Bren, and Cooper Carbine have easily dominated despite some nerfs. However, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t other guns that are capable of putting out similar DPS as those. Warzone expert TrueGameData, breaks down why two commonly undervalued weapons are actually “good enough to be considered meta.” TrueGameData reveals BAR and Type 100 Warzone loadout In the YouTube video above, TrueGameData, who is well known in the community for in-depth Warzone gun statistics, shows off a strong loadout that people should start using. Every great Warzone loadout consists of a long and short-range weapon. This is why TrueGameData combines a powerful assault rifle in the BAR with the Type 100 SMG. Let’s take a look at his BAR setup. BAR Loadout Attachments Muzzle: Mercury Silencer – Barrel: CGC 30” XL – Optic: 1913 Variable 4-8x – Stock: Chariot WR – Underbarrel: M3 Ready Grip – Magazine: .50 BMG 30 Round Mag – Ammo Type: Lengthened – Rear Grip: Grooved Grip – Perk: Hardscope – Perk 2: Fully Loaded – The main focus of this build is to maximize the ADS speed of the AR while maintaining low kick. He said, “This BAR with this build has almost no recoil, it’s crazy.” Mercury Silencer muzzle combined with that CGC 30” XL barrel help mitigate most of the bouncing effect that the gun has making it a deadly choice. Pair this up with the Type 100 and TrueGameData believes this can become one of the strongest duos in Warzone. Type 100 Loadout Attachments Muzzle: Recoil Booster – Optic: Slate Reflector – Stock: Sakura Type 2 – Underbarrel: Mark VI Skeletal – Magazine: 8mm Kurz 48 Round Drum – Ammo Type: Incendiary – Rear Grip: Fabric Grip – Perk: Gung-ho – Perk 2: Quick – This build is mainly set around having good ADS speed, but also accurate hip-fire. Despite this odd combination, he said that with SMGs you want to shoot before aiming in so the first couple of bullets are essential. He utilizes Gung-ho, the Sakura Type 2, and Fabric Grip as all three of these attachments are key for raising those two stats. While the Type 100 is known for being weaker than the MP-40 this build makes it much stronger. Next time you drop into Warzone, it’s worth giving these loadouts a try to see if they truly can become the next meta of the Pacific.

  • Warzone gun analyst shares meta tier list with weapons from all 3 games – Dexerto

Warzone gun analyst shares meta tier list with weapons from all 3 games ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone is moving away from Vanguard modes, making players question the meta. Fortunately, analyst TrueGameData shared a new tier list, including guns from Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War, and Vanguard. For weeks now, many of Warzone’s players have enjoyed the Vanguard-only playlists. So people were visibly annoyed when those modes got taken out and all the old guns and items got thrown back in. If you are one of many who have no idea what to use now that every gun is back in play, then fear not. TrueGameData, who is trusted for breaking down weapon statistics, has put together a simple tier list for the new Pacific meta. With Modern Warfare 2019, Black Ops Cold War, and Vanguard weapons all returning to action – here are the ones that stand atop the pack. Warzone new meta: Best guns from all 3 games Someone mentioned me simply ranking all the weapons earlier. I did this in like 5 minutes and like I said, I’ve only been playing VG Royale, so I don’t have a good feel for how VG weapons compare to MW and CW. Take this with a grain of salthttps://t.co/LXCbXj1l0G — 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 (@TrueGameData) January 13, 2022 Before diving in, it’s worth noting that TGD says to take everything with a “grain of salt” since this is a very early look after the mid-season patch. Given the prominence of Vanguard modes, few have truly compared these guns, but TGD’s analysis is still a good starting point. His tier list operates on a 1-10 scale and a number of weapons are listed as a top-rated “9.” Those qualify as the best meta options currently, which we’ll list out as AR (which includes LMGs for simplicity), SMG, and Sniper (including Marksman Rifles for simplicity). Warzone meta: Best ARs, SMGs, and Snipers after mid-season patch To make life easy, here are the best guns you should consider for each category. AR: XM4 (BOCW), AK-47 (BOCW), Bren (VG), C58 (BOCW) – SMG: AUG 5.56 (MW), LAPA (BOCW), MP-40 (VG), PPSh-41 (VG) – Sniper: Kar98k (MW), SP-R 208 (MW), Swiss K31 (BOCW) – Another point worth noting is that he categorized all of these guns as their base function, so this doesn’t yet consider any weapons used for a different style (e.g. an AR with an SMG build). Finally, while these 9-graded weapons give a good foundation for the meta, things are subject to change. Guns like the MW M4A1, BOCW OTs-9, and VG Cooper Carbine are all listed as an “8,” so there seems to be room for a lot of variety while everyone adjusts.

  • Warzone Gulag wins are being cancelled by another instant death bug – Dexerto

Warzone Gulag wins are being cancelled by another instant death bug ActivisionYet another bug has arrived in Warzone that affects players who have won their Gulag — and it might be even more infuriating than the last. For some time, a number of Warzone players found that after winning their Gulag and returning to battle, they were actually thrust into out-of-bounds areas of the map and unable to escape, giving them just a couple of seconds to find their way into the map area. This was, essentially, impossible, and meant that players would have to accept their loss as it was happening, despite their hard-fought Gulag victories. While developers Raven Software sought to fix that bug, though, they’ve introduced a new one that is somehow even worse. Winning your Gulag isn’t always easy and can be particularly stress-inducing, so it’s always a joy when you get the victory and are able to float back down to safety to get your game back on. Now, though, rather than spawning players out of bounds, the game is just immediately killing some players after they win their Gulag. As shown in the clip below by I_AM_THE_SEB, they don’t even get a warning noise or anything after winning their Gulag — the screen goes black as though they are about to respawn, and when it comes back, it says they’ve been eliminated from the game. Joking that this is the “updated version of the ‘spawn out of map’ bug,” Seb’s at least seeing the funny side, but it will no doubt raise questions for the devs who now have to figure out why this is happening and fix it. It’s unclear as of yet if something specific causes this that players can avoid, but with the Season 3 Reloaded update coming up soon, Raven will be looking to get a fix out for this when that update drops.

  • Warzone players claim “way too dark” Gulag makes it impossible to see – Dexerto

Warzone players claim “way too dark” Gulag makes it impossible to see Activision BlizzardCall of Duty: Warzone players say Urzikstan’s Gulag looks “way too dark,” making it impossible to spot enemies. Warzone received a new map in December 2023 – Urzikstan – which offered a different change of pace for the Gulag. One big shift came in the form of a rope mechanic that gives risk-takers a chance to escape. But the possibility of loading into the arena without the lights on constituted the most significant update to the formula. Forcing players to fight each other in complete darkness may sound interesting on paper, however, some have already grown frustrated. And it doesn’t help that certain in-game skins will render other players nearly impossible to see. Warzone players argue the Gulag is now “too dark” Redditor ShinyHead0 called out the Gulag‘s overwhelming darkness in a recent post, claiming “You can literally sit still in a corner with a dark skin and nobody can see you.” The user added that they’ve tested the waters with friends, hiding in what should be plain sight only for other players not to notice their presence. Other Warzone players were quick to chime in and agree that Urzikstan’s Gulag is unbelievably dark at times. One user said they now expect to lose whenever they end up in the Gulag: “Can’t see sh**. Pair that with a 75% sidewinder rate, I just go in expecting to lose each time.” The new Sidewinder weapon, which has already divided COD players, doesn’t make navigating the darkness any easier, according to the Reddit comments. “Good luck seeing anything with the sidewinder in there,” reads one reply. To preemptively ward off suggestions about adjusting the in-game brightness, one person argued that doing so would only “make the make game lighter than intended.” It’ll be interesting to see if and how developers respond to these complaints throughout Urzikstan’s stay.

  • Warzone Gulag glitch lets players parachute in and kill enemies – Dexerto

Warzone Gulag glitch lets players parachute in and kill enemies YouTube: NTrippyA bizarre new exploit in Warzone appears to allow a player to parachute into an ongoing Gulag fight, and eliminate an opposing player, while being invulnerable themselves. Although there have been countless Gulag glitches before this, few have allowed players to actually fight other players outside of the intended 1v1 setup. But, with the latest Gulag in Season 4, which is loosely based on the layout of the classic Black Ops II map, Hijacked, it appears as though no one is safe – if this exploit becomes widely known. At the moment, the only known example of the glitch being used does not elect to reveal how it is done – presumably to prevent it from becoming too widespread. New Gulag glitch in Warzone YouTuber NTrippy uploaded his example of the exploit on July 9, and after saying “let’s see if I can get this to work,” he cuts the footage, until just before he is parachuting in. Read More: Warzone players demand cross-play changes – He then locates the player waiting to fight in the Gulag spawn – unable to move at first. Once the timer expires, the confused enemy tries to shoot NTrippy, but is unable to deal damage. Unfortunately, NTrippy on the other hand is able to punch the opposing player to death. Despite only racking up a few thousand views on YouTube at the time of writing, the glitch has since been shared across social media platforms, such as Twitter and TikTok. Thankfully, the method of pulling off this Gulag glitch is concealed – but possibly not for long. In a comment on July 10, NTrippy said that he will “post how to do it in a couple days.” However, with how quickly this first clip is spreading, the developers may be quick to patch it out, before it becomes a major issue. In the Gulag, players are meant to have a fair 1v1 gunfight, for their chance to respawn into the match for free. If this becomes spoiled by players using this exploit, it will be a seriously big problem for Warzone.

  • Warzone Gulag glitch lets players get killed by earlier fighters – Dexerto

Warzone Gulag glitch lets players get killed by earlier fighters ActivisionA Warzone player was baffled when they died from a claymore in the Gulag, despite only having a Semtex available to them. It turns out, there’s a bizarre glitch allowing players to be killed by the ghosts of former Gulag fighters. When players die in Verdnask they get captured and taken to the Gulag where they can fight for redeployment. The Gulag will match you up against someone else in your lobby that is aiming to do the same thing as you. The fight is a mirror matchup with a random preset class. A Warzone player on Reddit was therefore mind-blown when they died to a claymore, which wasn’t even the lethal their Gulag duel was supposed to have. Gulag doesn’t reset the playing field This player, ‘Cracky6711,’ had no counterplay to their opponent when they were killed by a Claymore, as seen in the clip below. You can see the person dying to a player that is not in their current gulag match. Their preset class did not have Claymores, they had Semtex, and you can see the killcam glitched out as well and showing a player that is in Verdansk. That is because this Claymore was left over from another player’s Gulag victory. One person replied to the post saying that sometimes it will happen if the player is still alive. Unexploded claymores from previous Gulag matches can stick around and, as you saw, can end your game. There is nothing the player can do to reset the battlefield in the Gulag as it is on the devs’ side of things. However, next time you are in the Gulag you might want to be extra cautious just in case a previous fighter left behind a dangerous surprise.

  • Bizarre Warzone Gulag glitch is allowing spectators to run onto the battlefield – Dexerto

Bizarre Warzone Gulag glitch is allowing spectators to run onto the battlefield ActivisionThe Gulag in Warzone serves as a shot at redemption to earn that second life in Caldera, but a new glitch is confusing players are spectators are running onto the battlefield. Season 1 of the Warzone Pacific era brought a new version of the Gulag to the game. This features two outside lanes and a little house in the middle. After dying in a game, players are sent here to fight for a shot in a 1v1 environment to earn their redeployment. While it is already challenging enough to win your Gulag fight, a new glitch is making it even harder as other people are allowed to storm the field. Warzone Gulag glitch allowing multiple players in arena In a Reddit post by ‘colemanni’ they post an interesting bug that is allowing non-participants to interfere with the 1v1 fight that’s currently going on in the Gulag. You can see in the video that the player is trying to the enemy when suddenly a bystander starts running on top of the barriers. Just like anyone else, they start firing bullets at this operator and get hit markers, but it ends up getting them killed as that wasn’t the enemy. Read More: JGOD reveals forgotten Warzone setting that improves accuracy One Redditor said this is a glitch that can be done at any point while in the Gulag. “Apparently you have to hop on the barrel and then crouch on the fence in order to get there.” Players are concerned as this can lead to a lot of problems while in the Gulag. If it’s as easy as just crouching on a barrel to get into the battlefield then this can be replicated every time. As shown in the clip, it is very likely that someone will shoot at this spectator and it will then reveal their position to the true enemy. Players are hopeful this is patched as soon as possible.

  • Warzone grandma accused of cheating after insane mid-air snipe – Dexerto

Warzone grandma accused of cheating after insane mid-air snipe Facebook/Tacticalgamma/ActivisionWhen it comes to Call of Duty: Warzone, one of the last demographics you expect to see in your games is a literal grandmother, yet one was so good, she was actually accused of cheating after securing an incredible frag. Michelle Statham, otherwise known as TacticalGramma, went viral last year for her TikTok videos and streams, which have paved the way to over 1.1M followers. That’s more than some people who try to play the game professionally. To make things even crazier is that she’s actually quite good, at least a lot better than most would think by just looking at her (since she doesn’t really fit the stereotypical gamer profile). Now, in her most recent TikTok video, the grandma began by landing a nice snipe onto an enemy that seemed too good, even by her own skill standards. Grandma hits must-see Warzone snipe “I’m going to get hackusations for that,” she noted. Luckily, the snipe went without controversy, probably because that was just the beginning of her sick plays. A few moments later, she sniped an enemy in a helicopter in a play somewhat reminiscent of Dr Disrespect’s viral play from earlier in September. If that wasn’t enough, however, she had one more gun trick up her sleeve. As an enemy was dropping in, TacticalGramma shot him out of the sky, immediately prompting a kerfuffle. “He sniped me out of the sky, he’s cheating!” the player roared. “He says I’m cheating because I sniped him out of the sky!” TacticalGrandma laughed. Thankfully, there wasn’t any extreme drama following the accusations and the grandma was able to achieve victory with her teammates praising her skill, prompting her to title the video “forehead kisses with the best ending ever.” It’s pretty funny to imagine a grandma cheating in Warzone, but it just goes to show that anyone can be accused of hacking. Hopefully, once the new Vanguard anti-cheat goes live, streamers such as TacticalGramma can play without worrying about facing hackers or being accused of being one.

  • Warzone gods are carrying players to first ever Verdansk wins before Vanguard – Dexerto

Warzone gods are carrying players to first ever Verdansk wins before Vanguard ActivisionBefore Warzone’s Verdansk map is gone for good, players are offering their services to those who are still desperately trying to get their first win after two years. With the Call of Duty: Vanguard integration looming on the horizon and a new Warzone map coming with it, some players are preparing to their final farewells to the battle royale’s original map, Verdansk. Over the last few seasons, the map has undergone a bit of a facelift, even switching up to some 1980s inspired theming, and adding some new points of interest for players to do battle in. While the map has been around for two years, there are some players who have actually never gotten a win on Verdansk, and before it is gone for good, the community is rallying to change that fact. As players are counting down to the final moments of Verdansk, some have begun offering their services out across social media to help winless players finally get a W on the map. Redditor GaryLFC93 shone a spotlight on the wholesome movement after some players pointed out that they’d never experience the taste of victory on Verdansk. “I would love nothing more than to spend my last month on the game trying to help those who never got a win before well get their first win,” they said. They even encouraged other players to join the movement and bring good vibes to the map’s last few weeks. “I’m down to help with this,” said multiple players, all flaunting that they’ve racked up an obscene amount of wins and K/D ratios in Verdansk. Others suggested that if players are desperate to win but also want to improve before the new Pacific map launches, they should find a group on social media that can coach them up. At the end of the day, some players just want to put others on their back and carry them to a win, and we can’t help but applaud their efforts.

  • Warzone glitch turns enemies on train invincible – Dexerto

Warzone glitch turns enemies on train invincible ActivisionA possible glitch in Warzone is turning players invincible while they are riding on the train in the new Urzikstan map. Despite its massive popularity, Warzone has been dealing with a plethora of criticisms and issues including a new bug surrounding the new map’s train. The map, called Urzikstan, has a train running around the whole area and a clip is making the rounds on social media showing a player unable to kill others while on it. The clip is causing some waves in the community, with responses ranging from critical to hysterical. Warzone player encounters invincible enemy on train The clip first appeared on Reddit, with the caption being a blatant: “this game is such a joke.” The video then shows the player, on board the train, come across another person. Despite getting the drop on them, being at point-blank range, and seemingly able to land several easy shots, much of them do not land and they get downed instead. The response from the community was to address that bots were soon going to swarm the post, putting the blame on the player rather than Warzone itself. Others viewed as mounting evidence to the game lacking in quality, with one user saying, “Terrible game will remain terrible.” Some players suggest that the issue isn’t a bug with the train, but rather a result of the player having high ping or packet loss in the game. Others suggest that the door to the train compartment is glitching, with the game thinking it’s closed when it’s not. Regardless of the reason why, the clip is certainly justifying many fans’ frustration with Warzone’s state, as bugs continue to frequent the game since its launch.

  • Warzone glitch traps players in the gulag forever – Dexerto

Warzone glitch traps players in the gulag forever ActivisionWarzone players are getting trapped in the gulag forever, having to wait until the match ends. Despite being put in the gulag with other players, the game isn’t placing them into the usual one-on-one match. Instead, they’re stuck roaming the hallway, aimless, while the rest of the match continues outside. However, some players have even been able to win the match itself while being stuck. Warzone players are winning entire matches in the gulag The subreddit for Warzone is full of examples of players being stuck in the gulag. One such post shows a screenshot of two opposing players stuck together. The post comes with the caption: “Last two people in the game. How long am I keeping my console on?” The comments and responses to this post are full of players sharing their similar experiences in Warzone. One response even linked to another post where players were stuck in the gulag for over two hours and 25 minutes. One player mentioned having been stuck, alone, in the gulag until the very end of the match, resulting in them getting the win without recording a single kill. Others are telling stories of how they overcame the stalemate of being the last two people stuck in the gulag to see who would leave the match to end it. Some of them have run races around the gulag to see who wins, while another player explained they developed their own form of Rock, Paper, Scissors using standing, crouching, and prone instead. As of now, this issue has not been addressed by the developers and there has been no indication of a fix coming.

  • Warzone glitch sparks chaos by putting entire lobby on same team – Dexerto

Warzone glitch sparks chaos by putting entire lobby on same team ActivisionWarzone players are always looking to build the best squad possible but this unheard-of glitch made sure they didn’t have to look far, with some chaos along the way. The gears are in motion for Call of Duty’s battle royale to be bigger than ever. Forming an Avengers-style team in the Vanguard reveal event, players banded together for the greater good. For the first time in Warzone history, there was unity among players as peace briefly set in across Verdansk as they battled against a train and bombers rather than each other. The feeling of a strong alliance was just too much to pass up, as this player’s game decided to carry on the legacy. Task Force 141, assemble Dropping into Verdansk never fails to get the blood pumping. Combining the thrill of the chase with the urge to survive, the scramble for a good location is consistently frantic. It doesn’t always have to be this way. Especially when everyone else has laid down their weapons. Warzone fan Devious was just preparing himself for a good old-fashioned shootout but the battle royale had other plans for the game instead. Sending player communications into a scramble of nonsense, the entire lobby was confused. Surely this couldn’t be? OUR GAME JUST GLITCHED AND PUT THE ENTIRE LOBBY ON ONE TEAM LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL pic.twitter.com/oO0dXzyV3n — Devious (@DeviousOSRS) August 20, 2021 Warzone had now created one of the biggest non-event teams in CoD history. The entire lobby was now at the same time, ushering in the era of peace one more. With no enemies to fight, all that could be done was blow up everyone’s headsets with laughter and bewilderment. One question remained: Who wins? https://twitter.com/vGoated2k/status/1428882117770072066?s=20 So many hilarious possibilities. Being the two schmucks who end up killing themselves and being in the gulag unable to kill each other. Everyone gets the dub?! — KP (@k_persing) August 20, 2021 The results of Devious’ game remain a mystery, for now at least. The thought of a collective dub sure sounds pretty epic. No matter what the result, these players have now cemented themselves into one of Warzone’s most unique tales.

  • Warzone glitch lets you see inside of the airplane and players love it – Dexerto

Warzone glitch lets you see inside of the airplane and players love it Infinity WardOne of Call of Duty: Warzone’s latest glitches lets you watch players jump out of the Lockheed C-130 Hercules plane, and players are clamoring for its permanent addition to the game. There are game-breaking glitches and novelty, typically visual bugs that don’t impact gameplay. The former are detested while the latter are sometimes appreciated. Warzone’s new deployment glitch is a blend of both. When you drop onto Verdansk in Warzone, you see a cutscene of your team getting ready to parachute and then a third-person view of the plane traversing the game’s vast map. Once you jump out, the camera switches to first-person and you make your way to loot or battle. As seen increasingly since the April 28 patch though, players are finding themselves hanging out in the first-person view within the plane and watching other squads deploy first. It’s honestly pretty cool, like a miles-high pregame lobby filled with people either enjoying the ride or antsy to get in the action (but without being able to harm one another, like the Gulag’s viewing area). You get to see a variety of outfits, the interior of the plane, and get immersed in the game earlier than usual. As Redditor, ‘english_j12’ showed, it’s actually quite visually appealing. But, as karmic rules define, you can’t have the accidental good without the accidental bad and it turns out this is as game-breaking a glitch as possible. While it’s an aesthetically pleasing experience early on, players who encounter this bug are not able to deploy until the plane has passed the map. At that point, they simply drop into the Infinitum of Verdansk’s code and never stop falling—without ever taking damage. For the sake of science and YouTube, ‘Daly Gasri’ went through the effort of showing exactly what happens when you just wait out this never-ending drop. It turns out, you get a guaranteed win from miles below the map as the true winners succumb to the gas. Winning without doing much damage already doesn’t feel great, but this takes it to another, horrible level as you literally can do nothing but swivel your camera for an entire match. As it stands, Infinity Ward are aware of the situation and have marked their effort to fix it as “in progress” on the Modern Warfare Trello. Hopefully, they get this (and the chat audio bug) sorted soon, but realize players enjoy the visual immersion and consider adding that part to the game later on.

  • Warzone glitch lets you put any camo on any weapon – Dexerto

Warzone glitch lets you put any camo on any weapon Infinity Ward / ActivisionA new glitch in Warzone allows you to put on camos from Cold War and Vanguard on Modern Warfare weapons. Here’s a rundown of everything you need to know about how to pull off this cosmetic glitch. There are many camos in Call of Duty that are specific to particular titles, meaning you can only use them on weapons from the corresponding game. However, a new glitch allows players to put any camo on any weapon in the game. Even though the outcome looks breathtaking, the long-term result might not actually be ideal. Swagg, a well-known Warzone content creator, recently found a glitch where he could apply the Dark Aether/Dark Matter camo on his Kilo 141 assault rifle from Modern Warfare. This camo is a mastery cosmetic in Call of Duty Cold War. Players can get the Dark Aether camo only after unlocking the Golden Viper and Plague Diamond Camos in the Zombie mode of Cold War. The Golden Viper camo further requires all 35 Zombies Camos for a single weapon to be unlocked. It might seem like a standard feature but it isn’t. Despite being a glitch right now, it appears that the developers could actually implement this as a feature if they chose to. “I was using a certain gun, my beautiful Kilo and I had a certain type of camo on it,” Swagg explained. “Right now in the community, I can neither confirm nor deny that there’s a glitch going around.” Now, this might look a lot tempting but the end result might not be so fruitful, as there is a risk of being shadow banned if reported by the other players in the lobby. JGOD, another popular Warzone content creator has said that other players might assume some inauthentic tools to get access to such cosmetics, which might prove to be a bannable offense. New camo glitch in Warzone that allows you to put any camo on any weapon would be cool if that’s how it actually worked in game. You will likely get shadow banned by doing it since people will report you assuming you are using an unlock tool. So use at your own risk. — James – JGOD (@JGODYT) June 10, 2022 He adds that it “should honestly be a standard feature at this point, especially since it is obvious that the game is capable of doing it.” Read More: Storage Town returns in Warzone Season 4 – Although the final call depends upon Infinity Ward, it can be expected that the studio will never bring this feature. Especially when Modern Warfare sequel and Warzone 2 are on the line. Players may want to refrain from using this glitch to avoid any punishments.

  • Warzone glitch lets you get removed Nickmercs & TimTheTatman bundles – Dexerto

Warzone glitch lets you get removed Nickmercs & TimTheTatman bundles ActivisionCall of Duty players have discovered a new glitch that lets you get any bundle that has been removed from the store in Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone — including those of streamers Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff and Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar. Before they really even had the chance to become, inevitably, the most popular Operator bundles in the game, NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman saw their Call of Duty skins erased, following what was deemed to be an anti-LGBTQ tweet from Nick. After his was removed, Tim promptly requested that his Operator bundle also be removed, showing solidarity with his longtime friend, stating that it “feels wrong to have mine and him no longer have his.” This caused a huge divide among the community and even saw other creators, such as Swagg, have their plans for Operator bundles abandoned completely too. With the skins’ quick removal from the store when they first launched, not everybody who wanted them managed to get one, and there are plenty of players since that have wanted to play as either Nick or Tim — and now, it turns out, they can, as players have discovered two methods to buy and own the bundles after their removal. How to buy removed bundles including Nick & Tim This method requires two controllers, two profiles on your console, and crucially, one of them must already own the operator bundle that you want to own. Then, you must do the following: Go to the Store on the profile that owns the bundle (Controller 1). – Press R2/RT to access the Bundle Locker and ensure the bundles are owned. – Pick up your second controller (Controller 2) and log in to the profile you want the bundle on. – While logging in, press Circle/B on Controller 1 to cancel the log in and bring up the ‘Connection Failed’ popup. – With Controller 1, select ‘Go Offline.’ – Select ‘Local Multiplayer.’ – Log in with Controller 2. – With Controler 1, back out of local multiplayer right back to the start screen. – Use Controller 2 and Press X/A to Start. – Head to the Store again. – With Controller 2, press R2/RT to open the Bundle Locker, and you should see the bundles there available to purchase. – View and buy whichever bundle you want. – This doesn’t seem to be an intentional feature from the developers or Activision, and for that reason there’s a good chance it gets patched before long. After all, those bundles have been removed for a reason and they don’t want players to be able to exploit the system to buy them. That said, with cosmetics and other times carrying over from Modern Warfare 2 to Modern Warfare 3, many players will be looking to find ways to carry old bundles over with them that might not be available for purchase anymore, and this could end up the only way to do it.

  • Warzone glitch gives players free wins during Haunting event – Dexerto

Warzone glitch gives players free wins during Haunting event ActivisionThe Haunting Warzone event allows squads to face off against Diablo IV boss Butcher, but a glitch lets players take advantage during the fight and earn easy wins. In Warzone’s final season before Modern Warfare 3, the devs are sending the battle royale off in style. The annual fan-favorite Haunting event is back, and some community members have already heralded it as the best iteration in series history. In saying that, players are furious with the jump scares that you get randomly or from opening crates. And frustrations mounted when the update launched without including Zombie Royale and the nighttime Vondel map. Instead, players have to wait an extra three days to get the full Haunting experience. While waiting, squads can try their hand at completing Operation Nightmare, which unleashes seven anomalies across Al Mazrah. Players unlock an exclusive weapon camo by taking down every monster on a bounty board. But users discovered it’s actually better not to defeat one of the bosses. Warzone players avoid leaving Butcher’s realm to get free wins Diablo 4’s mini-boss Butcher is the star of Operation Nightmare. Teams can take on the fearsome foe by activating the Alters of Lilith to open a Nightmare Portal that leads to him. Defeating Butcher unlocks his signature Meat Hook in Diablo 4. But instead of completing the challenge, Warzone streamer Repullze discovered that you can win a match by staying in Butcher’s realm and avoiding the boss until the match ends. This isn’t the first time Warzone players earned free wins. In April, a bug allowed users to get free victories after being locked in the Gulag. It’s unclear what the devs intend to do in order to fix the issue. But if you are still searching for your first Warzone win, this provides the perfect opportunity to do so. • Warzone glitch could hint that highly requested feature is coming – Dexerto

Warzone glitch could hint that highly requested feature is coming ActivisionWarzone players think that an end-of-game glitch that showed a kill cam could mean that this highly requested feature is coming in the near future. Call of Duty has implemented many of its features from the Multiplayer realm into the battle royale zone. Weaponry, perks, callings cards, and levels are just a few. But one is still lacking from the game that has been a staple in the FPS franchise for over 10 years. The final killcam has been iconic in the CoD scene and Warzone still doesn’t have one, but that could be set to change. Warzone could be getting final killcam Ever since Warzone’s release, players have been begging Raven Software to add a final killcam to the battle royale. And it could finally be coming. A Reddit post by ‘KezzaaB’ highlighted a moment at the end of their match where they seemed to have bugged the game into showing it. As seen in the clip, Kezzaa picked up the game-winning kill which showed the victory message. However, instead of loading into the exfil cutscene, the player got a replay with the word “Final Kill” in the top left. This has fans convinced that this could be coming to the game in the future. “I hope they do bring it in,” one user wrote. “I would be going for Throwing Knife winning-kills every final circle if this was implemented.” Other players chimed in, with some even saying that they have wanted this since day one of Warzone. Another person had a better idea in mind to replace the exfil scene. “They should have a whole montage for the winning team,” they said. While this is seemingly a glitch, players have been campaigning for this feature to come over from Multiplayer, and this could be the first sign of it.

  • Warzone glitch causes wins to come down to a coin flip – Dexerto

Warzone glitch causes wins to come down to a coin flip ActivisionWarzone Season 5 has brought tons of new content and playlist updates. Buy Backs are now live but this glitch is randomly picking a winner out of the final players. Players have been quite upset lately as the normal Battle Royale game mode was removed for Buy Backs. Buy Backs allow players to pay $4,500 when they die to immediately come back into Verdnask and get another life. Although this gives you more chances to win, players are getting robbed with this latest glitch that isn’t giving the win to the last one standing. Warzone glitch ends game with two solo players alive An old Warzone bug found players getting free wins at random points in the match. This would end the current game and give everyone in the lobby a win. It seems a variation of this has returned, this time only giving it to one player. In this clip posted by ‘bundy5’ you can see the player spectating a game with two people left when suddenly one of them gets the win. This glitch ended the game despite there still needing to be one more gunfight to get a final player standing. The two players were shooting at each other but couldn’t do damage as the victory screen had already popped up. The clip does not confirm if both players received a win but it can be certain that at least one of them did. While this can be extremely frustrating for players, it is unknown why this is happening. Some players suggest it is a big with the Buy-Back mode, while others are just confused.

  • Warzone glitch brings dead players back to life for victory screen – Dexerto

Warzone glitch brings dead players back to life for victory screen ActivisionWarzone glitches range from tedious to game-breaking, but the latest bug provided some innocent laughs instead. Performance issues and bugs are nothing new for Warzone; unfortunately, Season 5 introduced a slew of problems. Players slammed the newly added Last Call LTM for “frustrating” lag issues and were angered by “horrible” sun glare issues. Warzone cheaters are also getting free kills by glitching under Fortune’s Keep after the latest update. Warzone has received a lot of flack for a less-than-stellar season launch. On a much lighter note, a bug redeployed an entire lobby during a victory cutscene. Warzone bug revives dead players A Warzone player shared an image of dead players revived during a victory cutscene. Winning a Warzone round is no easy feat, so for some, this may have been their first chance at appearing in a victory cutscene. Poking fun at the whole incident, the post creator responded, “class photos be like,” and a second user added, “3,2,1 say cheese.” The poster also claimed to try and take down the other players during the cutscene. “I opened fire, but of course, they were immortal for some reason.” A third player claimed, “last week, I discovered the cutscene guys fire real bullets, apparently. The cut scene played, they started shooting, and all of the sudden, I got the donk sound and “Warzone Death Saved. Performance issues usually hinder a player’s experience, but it’s a pleasant change of pace seeing a harmless bug cause a moment of fun for the Warzone community.

  • Warzone Ghost perk is broken and ruining matches in Season 6 – Dexerto

Warzone Ghost perk is broken and ruining matches in Season 6 ActivisionFollowing the Season 6 update, Warzone’s Ghost perk appears to be glitching in public matches and still showing users on the radar. Warzone’s Season 6 update has finally arrived and as always, Raven Software has added a variety of exciting content for players to check out. Whether it’s the reworked Gulag, the upcoming Halloween event, or the two new weapons available to customize and use, there is definitely no shortage of impressive additions. However, as seen with the majority of Warzone updates, Season 6 didn’t come without its fair share of bugs, and one of the most frustrating issues is affecting the Ghost perk. For an unknown reason, players who have selected the Ghost perk are occasionally showing up on the radar, rendering it completely useless. Warzone glitch makes Ghost perk completely useless Back in July, some players in private lobbies were noticing that Ghost wasn’t working as intended, with enemies showing up on the radar who were supposedly running the perk. Warzone streamer Jessie Cooks even experienced the issue in the $75k Twitch Rivals event, where despite picking up her Ghost loadout, she was eliminated by a squad who knew her exact location from a UAV. Although this was a huge issue, it only appeared to be present in private lobbies. That was until the Season 6 update, where the patch seems to have introduced the issue to public matches. 100 Thieves’ Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren took the time to explain the issue on Twitter, showing an example of the glitch occurring in one of his games which nearly caused him and his teammate to wipe. The private match ghost glitch is now also in public matches. Here’s a video explaining everything and what happened (it’s different to the players showing up out of range of the UAV): pic.twitter.com/5eNtwT7iXd — Tommey (@Tommey) October 6, 2021 As you can see in Tommey’s clip, from his POV there are multiple opponents in the area, but his teammate has no indication of the enemy’s location. This is a serious issue, as it renders the Ghost perk completely useless and makes UAV’s even more powerful, as there are very few ways to stay undetected. It’s safe to say this is a major Warzone glitch and Raven will need to address this issue as soon as possible, especially with the number of tournaments taking place all the time.

  • Raven Software working on exclusive Warzone perks as Black Ops split continues – Dexerto

Raven Software working on exclusive Warzone perks as Black Ops split continues TreyarchRaven Software is working on two new Warzone-exclusive perks — and will workshop more for future updates — in a game-changer for the Call of Duty battle royale as it charts a course beyond Modern Warfare and Black Ops integration in coming seasons. Warzone’s split into its own Call of Duty title continues. When the popular battle royale was first released, it was bound to Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare remake. The two games played relatively differently (that would be little surprise to anyone) but balance changes were often made together. That changed in Black Ops Cold War’s integration, but only slightly. Another move has now been made to shift Warzone into its own standalone game; starting next season, the battle royale will have its very own perks. The battle royale devs confirmed the new plans in their title’s Season 4 Reloaded patch notes on July 15: “We are excited to share that we are planning the debut of two new Warzone-specific perks in future updates.” Raven Software also confirmed they would now be adjusting Warzone perks separately to Call of Duty’s mainline games, to “better balance” the battle royale. This move isn’t a first for the Call of Duty franchise. Warzone’s precursor Blackout — the short-lived Black Ops 4 battle royale — actually had exclusive perks you could collect across the map. Many of these never appeared in its mainline game. That idea was scrapped when originally Warzone was introduced, however; Infinity Ward preferred to keep Modern Warfare “more linked” with its new battle royale. This decision has been near-universally panned by Warzone players ever since. Due to the nature of battle royale gameplay compared to its multiplayer sister modes, some perks were either totally useless when used in the 100-player arena. Others swung the other way, like Dead Silence, and were ‘must-take.’ Popular figures like Dr Disrespect and CDL stars Kenny and Attach have all flamed Raven Software over the studio’s Dead Silence stance in the past. Raven has yet to officially unveil Warzone’s exclusive perks. The devs did confirm, however, they would be making major changes to one perk — “High Alert” — alongside their arrival. The oft-forgotten defensive upgrade will be getting Season 5 buffs to counter the infamous Dead Silence perk. Read More: Warzone Season 4 Reloaded patch notes – As Dexerto understands, Raven will be running these new Warzone perks through a series of tests before they hit the battle royale’s live servers.

  • Warzone gets shock player count change in Season 3 Reloaded update – Dexerto

Warzone gets shock player count change in Season 3 Reloaded update ActivisionWarzone players have been demanding that the lobby player count be increased from 150 — but in a surprising twist, the count has actually decreased with the Pacific Season 3 Reloaded update. Raven Software, the developers of the BR mode, tested a 200-player lobby with a limited-time mode in Modern Warfare’s Season 4 Reloaded, and the tester was pretty well received. Since then, Caldera has been criticized for being too wide open and the community has often called for a permanent increase in lobby size. However, after a year of waiting for another similar event or for a permanent upgrade, the player count has instead been decreased by a significant amount. Warzone player count change explained How many people in one Warzone game? In the Season 3 Reloaded update, Warzone’s player count per game will be decreased from 150 to 120 in all core game modes. This means that all of the Caldera-based game modes will see a 30-man drop in population in a move that hopes to help ease the strain across all platforms. In the patch notes, they said the following about the change: Player Count Adjustment | Reduced total Player count per match to 120 – – “With the addition of new second-chance mechanics, we are very conscious of making sure the mid-game doesn’t feel unfairly claustrophobic compared to the current Battle Royale pacing. We will therefore be trialing a slightly reduced Player count across all core Battle Royale squad sizes,” Raven devs stated. “We will be carefully reviewing sentiment and data to make sure that the engagement pacing remains more or less in line with the current experience and that Players can still pursue new personal records.” In a March 2022 interview with FaZe Swagg, Raven Creative Lead Josh Bridge stated that the concept of changing player counts had been “internally tested” by the team. However, there were “technical challenges” standing in the way, particularly on last-gen consoles. During the same interview, Raven Creative Director Ted Timmins also noted that the team is prioritizing new gameplay features over the additions of new game modes and LTMs. Though, he did not rule out the possibility of a max capacity game mode. The official patch notes state that the development team will monitor the feedback on the player count as Season 3 reloaded happens, so fans may still eventually get their wish of 200-player lobbies at some point in the future. • Warzone community congratulates father on “wholesome” in-game gender reveal – Dexerto

Warzone community congratulates father on “wholesome” in-game gender reveal ActivisionA Warzone player and first-time dad hosted an in-game gender reveal, and the Call of Duty community is loving the “wholesome” content. Like any number of other online fandoms, the Call of Duty: Warzone community unfortunately plays host to lots of toxicity. Every so often, though, Warzone players manage to even surprise each other. Just recently, one user recognized that another may have been less experienced and let them escape mid-battle. Some more truly heartfelt content started making the rounds on Warzone’s subreddit over the weekend, too. Interestingly enough, it involves one person’s clever gender reveal. Warzone community applauds first-time father’s gender reveal One Reddit user recently learned the gender of the child their family’s expecting. Naturally, their Call of Duty friends were also interested in the news, but wanted to take part in a gender reveal of sorts. Said reveal was conducted in-game on Warzone’s Urzikstan map. The father-to-be gathered his friends on a rooftop and dropped two rifles at their feet – one blue, the other colored pink. As his buddies stood aside, their characters jumping up and down with excitement, the player grabbed a smoke grenade and let it go off. As the smoke spread, the first-time dad picked up the pink rifle and started firing. There’s a baby girl in his future, and his Warzone squad couldn’t be happier for him. Check out the Warzone gender reveal below: The original poster wrote, “[my] friends wanted me to do a gender reveal on WZ. Might as well share the good news with y’all as well!” Needless to say, the Warzone subreddit is all too pleased to congratulate their fellow community member. Several comments called the gender reveal creative and “wholesome.” One reply reads, “This is super wholesome bro! Congrats! The Warzone community can be toxic af, but stuff like this is always great see.” Someone else called the clip the “best post in this subreddit in ages.” Another person commented on the friend group’s reaction, writing, “The whole gang jumping with excitement is just too good!” Clearly, toxicity isn’t all that defines the spirit of the Warzone community.

  • Warzone devs rush out fix for infinite Gas Mask glitch in Season 3 – Dexerto

Warzone devs rush out fix for infinite Gas Mask glitch in Season 3 ActivisionOne of Warzone’s most infamous bugs returned in full force as players encountered the unbreakable Gas Mask glitch yet again in Season 3. Throughout Warzone’s 14 month history, there’s no denying that lethal gas around the map has led to more issues than anything else. From the painful stim-glitch era to pesky animations that could just ruin a run, players have had to endure a great deal. One of the first gas-related bugs had been dormant for quite some time. Unbreakable Gas Masks were prevalent in the early days of Verdansk, though this particular bug was considered fixed for the past few months. With Season 3 now in full swing, however, the classic glitch returned once again. Players encountered Gas Masks that simply never expired, allowing them to remain out in the open for as long as they like. Playing through a regular Trios match on May 10, Reddit user ‘kobosil41’ noticed something peculiar. One of their teammates was in the ‘red zone’ without suffering any damage. Standing outside of the circle near Prison, they roamed the map as though there was never any gas. Towards the bottom of their screen, the Gas Mask icon keeps refreshing. Despite being depleted, the equipment never breaks. Remaining enemies battled in the final zones. All the while, this player was able to avoid conflict by hiding out in the gas. There’s no telling exactly how the returning bug came into effect this time around. In its original form, it happened to be a completely random glitch that could strike at any moment. Well aware of the original issue, devs quickly moved to issue a remedy back in August, 2020. Despite their efforts, it soon returned and spread across Verdansk ’84. Read more: Symfuhny reveals lethal AK74u Warzone class – Just days after the bug caused headaches once again, Raven Software confirmed a quick fix on Thursday, May 13. “An exploit has been addressed that was allowing players to use the Gas Mask indefinitely,” the official Warzone Trello board outlined. Continuing the trend, Raven Software has been far more vocal since Season 3 arrived. From constant updates on social media to more detailed patch notes, communication has stepped up a notch of late. While the Gas Mask bug was in effect for a few days, you’ll no longer have to worry about it when travelling through Verdansk in Season 3.

  • Warzone Games of Summer: how to get gold medals in all five trials – Dexerto

Warzone Games of Summer: how to get gold medals in all five trials Infinity WardWarzone’s Games of Summer event is now fully underway as all five trials have gone live. From movement skills to accuracy, you’ll be put to the test in a number of ways. However, we’ve got you covered with a guide to help you go for gold in each challenge. Games of Summer kicked off on August 28 and is set to run through until September 7. Players have a limited time to test their skills in five unique trials. Doing so will award plenty of cosmetics unlocks and a special Blueprint for the most elite competitors. Each of the minigames comes with three tiers of unlocks: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. They all provide different items, but reaching the top prize across the board will give you ultimate bragging rights. Some challenges are easier than others and all of them will test you in a unique way. From movement-based trials to courses that will test your accuracy, there’s a lot to get through. If you’re pushing for the gold medal in every challenge, we’re here to help with a simple guide to boost your scores. Games of Summer: Risky Parkour Gold Medal guide The first trial to be released during the Games of Summer event was Risky Parkour. This unique map tasks players with getting from point A to point B as quickly as possible. Jumping, sliding, and sprinting your way to the finish line is easier said than done, however. Especially when it comes to breaking the 40-second mark for the gold medal. In order to truly push the pace in this trial, make sure you’re mapping out a perfect path before putting it all together. Take a few minutes to go through each section one by one. Figure out where to jump, which objects to mantle on, and which path you’ll take. Once you’re ready to chain it together, be sure to use every trick in the book. Slide canceling will be your favorite tactic in no time. Just when your tac-sprint is running out, a quick slide will keep your momentum. Strafe jumping is also key, especially inside the barn. Look to position yourself in such a way as to clear the indoor jump without needing to run up the stairs. This will save more time than almost any other trick. Games of Summer: Gun Course Gold Medal guide For the second Games of Summer trial, you’ll need to make sure your aim is warmed up. This challenge has you running through a map and taking down every enemy target in sight. However, you’ll have to avoid shooting civilians or else your score will be dragged down in a big way. To maximize your efficiency here, aim to line up as many collateral kills as possible. Not only will this knockdown targets in a speedy manner, but it will also ensure that you never have to reload. Stopping to reload a weapon is what takes the most time out of your run. Wielding an SMG and a pistol can prevent that from happening if you make every shot count. Similar to the parkour trial, take some time to map out each section in the gun course. Figure out which targets align and how you can take down multiple with just a single shot. Once you’ve got a strategy in place, a little bit of practice will see you blitzing through to gold with plenty of time to spare. Games of Summer: Marksman Challenge Gold Medal guide This trial is all about accuracy. While others mix plenty of different factors into play, here you’ll purely be focusing on gun skills. A sniper lays ahead of you at the beginning and you’ll have a set amount of time to knock down targets in the distance. Some are quite close while others are extremely far away. Some are static while others are constantly in motion. Just like the previous challenge, multiple targets can be fired through with a single round. So try to be patient and time your shots. There’s a gap between each pull of the trigger so saving time by connecting with two targets at once is huge. Read more: 10 most popular weapons in Warzone – Another piece of advice is to space out your reloads. After you clear a full wave of targets, there’s a brief interval before the next batch appears. Use this to your advantage and refill the sniper while there’s nothing to shoot at. After a few rounds of learning target patterns and timing everything right, another gold medal should be yours. Games of Summer: Price’s Alley Gold Medal guide If your aim is on point, Price’s Alley is next up in the hunt for five gold medals. Through this challenge, you’ll only be equipped with the Renetti handgun. It’s up to you to keep a combo alive as you shoot down a near-endless wave of enemy targets. Tagging one target with a headshot or a body shot will add to your combo meter. The more you’re able to hit without missing a shot or without letting the meter run out, the higher your score. As you progress, that bar will diminish in the blink of an eye. Missing even a single shot could bring your run to an end. So the goal here is to remain composed. Try not to panic and spray everywhere. Time your shots well, predict where the next targets will be, and line things up properly. While missing will cost you, hitting civilians is even worse. So you’ll need to be sharp the whole way through. Pace yourself to begin with as the best runs in this mode come from extraordinary combos. Games of Summer: Shooting Range Gold Medal guide Last but not least, the shooting range is as simple as they come. If you’re an experienced Gunfight player, you’ll already know the layout of the map. 40 targets are spread across the close quarter’s battlefield and you need to rush through knocking them all down as usual. Similar to the Gun Course, you’ll want to conserve ammo at all costs. Reloading will take up far too much of your valuable time when hunting for gold. So aim to line up collateral shots, and make sure you’re not wildly missing with each target. After a few runs, you’ll begin to grow familiar with the target locations as they spawn in the same place each go around. Running with automatic weapons is great for large clips, but be sure not to spray for too long at the one target. Pepper your shots and always be on the move. You’ll be able to smash through the 30-second goal in no time.

  • Warzone players furious after Raven Software remove core battle royale playlists – Dexerto

Warzone players furious after Raven Software remove core battle royale playlists ActivisionWarzone players won’t be able to enjoy the standard battle royale experience for the next week as Raven Software has surprisingly removed all core playlists from the game. Like most battle royale titles, Warzone can be experienced in a variety of ways. Solo players are able to drop in by themselves, two players can form a Duo, and so on. Furthermore, limited-time playlists occasionally tweak some gameplay features to add a little variety. Yet when these alternate modes are added to the mix, Warzone has always kept the standard modes intact. At least, that was the case until the most recent playlist update on August 26: the core BR Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads playlists have all been pulled from the popular CoD battle royale. In their place, Buy Backs is now the only similar option available. https://twitter.com/_zexyy/status/1430950394633523205 This rotation was outlined earlier in the Season 5 patch notes, with August 26 to September 1 featuring Buy Backs in the weekly cycle. However, most assumed the core options would still be playable during this stretch, as has been the case with every previous Warzone update. For the latest playlist patch, however, that simply isn’t the case, and Warzone players have been left fuming over the standard battle royale experience being removed. “Ah, yes, that time of month where the standard BR game that made them billions of dollars is no longer a playlist option,” Reddit user ‘MatzoTov’ said. Others questioned: “Where the hell is the standard BR?” As the only available option for the week, Buy Backs is a far more hectic mode. If players die with enough cash in their pockets, they can buy their way back to life, as the name implies. This negates the typical Gulag system and drastically impacts the pace of Warzone as a whole. “Some of us just like to have a few casual games after work. Buy Back ain’t it,” players complained on Twitter. “Hopefully they put it back, this is bulls**t.” While some players prefer the rapid Buy Back experience, many have been left wanting the original playlists to return. At the very least, keeping both options available would appease all crowds. Regardless of your opinion, however, Buy Back is the only battle royale option available for the next week in Warzone. As Dexerto understands, Raven Software will be returning Core Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads to Warzone playlists as part of a September 2 update.

  • Warzone may never get FOV slider on console: CoD insiders claim it’s ‘impossible’ – Dexerto

Warzone may never get FOV slider on console: CoD insiders claim it’s ‘impossible’ ActivisionConsole Warzone players may not want to hold their breath in waiting for a Field of View (FOV) slider to arrive on previous generation hardware. Prominent Call of Duty insiders have now claimed it just isn’t “possible.” The most glaring difference between console and PC performance in Warzone is the addition of an FOV slider. With more information on-screen at any given time, PC players have a significant advantage over those on console. Although fans have been pleading with devs for years now, there’s been no update. Even with top Warzone streamers like Swagg demanding a change, Activision hasn’t budged. While many remain hopeful a console FOV slider will still arrive one day, such patience may be ill-advised. New claims from CoD leakers indicate it’s out of the picture due to “hardware limitations.” Hot off the heels of Warzone 2’s announcement, speculation began as to what improvements the sequel may bring. Supposedly a “completely new game for better hardware,” Tom Henderson previously reported the follow-up is targeting current-gen systems only. It’s with this leap forward that devs can finally provide an FOV slider, ‘TheMW2Ghost’ claimed during a recent livestream. “They can do it [on current-gen],” he explained. But for those on Xbox One or PlayStation 4, it’s best not to expect the same treatment, both leakers implied. Previous-gen hardware is “not getting an FOV slider because it’s technically not possible,” Henderson said. “To sustain a nice resolution, an FOV slider would sacrifice graphics,” Ghost followed up. The consoles that launched in 2013 can’t have a stable Warzone performance with an FOV slider on top, they explained. A number of employees supposedly “didn’t want to do a Warzone 2,” Henderson added. Which he speculates is telling of “problems with the engine and hardware limitations.” Jumping to a full-fledged sequel, opposed to a more traditional Warzone update, allows the dev team to leave already struggling consoles behind. So while it’s safe to expect an FOV slider on console may finally arrive with Warzone 2, it appears the feature will be exclusive to new-gen hardware.

  • Warzone FOV setting on PC can reduce visual recoil on weapons – Dexerto

Warzone FOV setting on PC can reduce visual recoil on weapons Infinity WardCall of Duty players have uncovered an unusual field-of-view setting in Warzone, claiming that weapons such as the CR-AMAX seem to have less visual recoil when it is toggled. The weapon meta is continuing to shift in Warzone as more changes are released in Season 6, giving players plenty of unique weapons and playstyle to try in the battle royale. Popular YouTuber Swagg was one of the latest to reveal a Season 6 loadout for Warzone but claimed there was also a “secret” setting that was helping him to rack up more kills in-game. While the CR-56 AMAX, which was featured as the Galil in past CoD titles, has been a solid weapon since its release, there are, apparently, some field-of-view settings that Warzone players can change to make the gun easier to use. In his October 24 upload, Swagg revealed that having the “Affected FOV” setting enabled makes it seem as if the AMAX has little to no recoil. This is opposed to the default Independent FOV setting. “Affected FOV on PC makes guns feel like they don’t have recoil,” Swagg revealed, in his Warzone gameplay, “[it’s the] reason why I use Amax now.” Topic starts at 2:15 The AMAX does not usually stand out above other Assault Rifles in its class, but it still has one of the highest base stats when it comes to damage per second (DPS), meaning that less recoil would make this quite a strong choice in the current meta. While the weapon, with these affected FOV settings, appears to move less compared to CR-56 AMAX gameplay for console players, it is unclear whether or not it actually has a major effect on the gun. However, it seemed to be working quite well for Swagg, as he highlighted just how strong it could be, managing to pick up plenty of kills in his Warzone match with fellow content creator booya. Another CoD YouTuber Webzy has previously highlighted the difference in recoil between the Affected and Independent settings, echoing the sentiment of the FaZe member and claiming it was actually easier to hit shots with it enabled. Infinity Ward is regularly coming out with fixes for any bugs found in-game but it appears as if this FOV setting was intended to be a feature, making it unclear whether or not this will be patched.

  • Warzone FOV actually increases FPS on PC – Dexerto

Warzone FOV actually increases FPS on PC ActivisionWarzone’s FOV slider on PC gives players a huge advantage without lowering the game’s FPS – an area that is incredibly important for those looking to secure dominant victories. The best FOV Warzone settings enable PC players to see more of the map, while also reducing the visual recoil on the game’s best weapons. As a result, having a higher FOV is a must for any player looking to increase their KD or survivability. This is obviously a huge advantage for PC Warzone players, especially since those on console can’t adjust this setting at all. To make matters even better, TrueGameData has discovered that higher FOV settings on PC actually increase FPS, while lower settings greatly decrease performance. Higher Warzone PC FOV settings aid performance “I assumed the performance hit would be too big to render more. The higher your FOV is, the more stuff is on the screen, obviously. I was assuming that [Raven Software] were having troubles hitting their FPS targets on consoles because consoles don’t have the hardware that PCs can have.” However, when TrueGameData tested his theory, he found that setting his FOV to the highest setting actually increased his FPS. The YouTuber found an area on Caldera with a high density of objects, which ensured his PC was working hard to render all the onscreen visuals. Timestamp of 14:38 He then lowered his FOV and began to notice significant drops in his FPS. “I actually found that when you put FOV on 80, you get slightly less FPS,” explained the content creator. “I think it might be because you’re more zoomed in when you have lower FOV, and it might be rendering the stuff in the frame at higher quality, which means it’s taking even more performance.” Read More: Best Sniper Rifle Warzone class loadouts – This will obviously come as a surprise to many PC Warzone players, so if you’re currently playing on 80 FOV and wish to increase your FPS, then we’d recommend increasing your FOV even further. • Warzone finally planning to open Verdansk’s ‘Metro’ subway in Season 6 – Dexerto

Warzone finally planning to open Verdansk’s ‘Metro’ subway in Season 6 Infinity WardWarzone is set to get another major map overhaul in Season 6, according to new Modern Warfare leaks; the battle royale map will now be connected by multiple Metro stations, after five seasons of Verdansk subway keeping its doors closed. Modern Warfare’s battle royale has undergone some pretty drastic map changes in its last few seasonal updates. Most recently, Warzone added an Apex Legends style train that chugs around the map, and blew open its iconic center-stage Stadium. Infinity Ward is apparently planning to finally add the long-teased Metro subway system to the battle royale next season now too. That means changes to a number of points of interest, including Stadium, Airport, Promenade, and some portions of downtown Verdansk. The image leak, which was recently rediscovered after first being uncovered by BKTOOR_ in early August, shows seven stops for Verdansk’s new “Metro” system. تمت اضافة انتل جديد الاسبوع السادس – الخطوة السابعة menu_intel_w6_s7 pic.twitter.com/JOTgaJIyAG— ᴮᴷᵀᴼᴼᴿ (@BKTOOR_) August 8, 2020 According to BKTOOR_, these leaked map images will be collectible in Warzone during Season 5. They suggested the new intel would be available in the “sixth week,” during the “seventh step” of a potential series of seasonal easter eggs or challenges. The Season 6 subway appears to already have a predetermined route, and will travel to the same seven stations. The potential Metro stops are as follows: Possible new Metro subway stations M1 — Verdansk International Airport – M2 — Verdansk Stadium – M3 — Gorengard Lumber Yard – M4 — Downtown Tavorsk District – M5 — Barakett Promenade East – M6 — Verdansk Train Station – M7 — Torsk Bloc – It’s worth noting these projected subway stops may change slightly heading into Season 6 too. Infinity Ward has proven they are happy to swap and change POIs in the battle royale for each season, so that could well happen again. Black Ops Cold War is also on the horizon, and that’s tipped to take Warzone back into the early 1980s. Verdansk could have been a very different place 40 years ago; Treyarch may overhaul much of the original map to show that change. This revelation the Verdansk subway will finally be opening seems to also confirm the long-teased Season 6 storyline. An unbuilt warhead, uncovered by players in Bunker 11 as part of a Season 4 easter egg, was “snuck in under Verdansk.” Call of Duty insiders are tipping this mysterious nuclear weapon to be the “grand finale” of Warzone’s opening Modern Warfare era. Battle royale players could even find clues about the impending detonation in the subways. It’s worth keeping in mind Infinity Ward has yet to officially confirm the ‘Metro’ coming to Verdansk though. Season 5’s Reloaded patch only just dropped, so the devs will likely let that update breathe before announcing anything new.

  • Warzone finally nerfing Dead Silence with surprise High Alert changes – Dexerto

Warzone finally nerfing Dead Silence with surprise High Alert changes ActivisionWarzone devs have finally confirmed that the infamous Dead Silence will effectively be nerfed thanks to a surprise buff to High Alert, which will be music to the ears of many players. With the arrival of Warzone’s Season 4 Reloaded update, Raven Software have introduced a bunch of features like a new objective-based Payload game mode and the OTs 9 SMG to keep the battle royale fresh in the wait for Season 5. Something that might have gone under the radar in the update’s patch notes, though — and it’s something that most players will be very glad to hear — is that a significant counter to the Dead Silence Field Upgrade is on the way. High Alert will counter Dead Silence in Warzone update Dead Silence has consistently been one of the most divisive features of Warzone. The Field Upgrade temporarily makes your footsteps quieter, which gives you a huge advantage when it comes to surprising your opponents. It’s drawn plenty of criticism for the fact that, unlike other Field Upgrades, it doesn’t have any downsides and there are also no real counters for it. But that’s all about to change thanks to an upcoming buff to the High Alert perk. In their patch notes for Season 4 Reloaded, Raven Software confirmed that High Alert will soon be receiving an update that allows players to hear Dead Silent footsteps, which will be a game-changer for those frustrated by Dead Silence. “We are excited to share that we are planning the debut of two new Warzone-specific Perks,” they wrote. “Alongside them, High Alert will also be receiving an update that allows players to hear Dead Silent footsteps.” Interestingly, this juicy bit of information also confirms that Raven are working on Warzone-exclusive perks, which is another big step in the battle royale’s journey to becoming a standalone game. One person who will be glad to hear of the Dead Silence counter is Dr Disrespect. The popular Warzone streamer has been vocal about his hate for the Field Upgrade, labeling it “one of the top mistakes in the gaming industry.” Unfortunately, there’s currently no word on when these changes will arrive, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as anything gets announced.

  • Warzone finally makes long-awaited Gulag audio change in Season 4 – Dexerto

Warzone finally makes long-awaited Gulag audio change in Season 4 ActivisionWith the launch of Season 4, Warzone developers Raven Software have made a major quality of life change that will make navigating the Gulag and getting the better of your opponent even easier. The Gulag has changed fairly regularly throughout Warzone’s lifecycle, from the early Gulag Showers of Verdansk all the way up to the current ‘Hold.’ Some have been favored ahead of others, and each has brought its own trials, tribulations, and reasons to enjoy. One complaint that has been increasingly common over the years since Warzone launched, however, is the audio in the game. While there have been complaints about audio across the entire title, one area it has been very prominent is in the Gulag — but that’s changing in Warzone Pacific Season 4. When taking part in an intense 1v1 for your spot back in the battle, you need every piece of information available to you on your opponent, and no distractions while doing it. Many players have reported that this can be impossible at times, however, as audio is so frenetic in the Gulag. This is due mainly to the fact that you can hear spectators running around and making noise above you as you try to pin down where exactly your opponent is, but Raven has committed to changing that by muting spectator footstep audio for players who are fighting in the new “Hold” Gulag in the Season 4 update. This will no doubt be a huge help to players trying to earn their spot back in Caldera and regain for a victory, without having to make out your opponent’s footsteps from those running around above you. With Warzone 2 coming out at the end of 2022, the devs Raven Software may well be trying to finetune the current game and test out new things for the highly-anticipated sequel.

Warzone finally makes long-awaited gas mask change after 3 years ActivisionWarzone community members have complained about gas mask animations for years, and Season 4 Reloaded has finally addressed this lingering issue. Infinity Ward controversially removed the ability to equip or unequip a gas mask in Warzone 2. Once a player enters the gas, their operator automatically equips a gas mask. A toggle option in WZ1 for gas masks increased the possibility of preserving gas masks longer and made storm traversal easier. Some community members want the equip animation removed entirely, as it gets in the way of important actions. For example, a streamer couldn’t equip a gas mask due to a reload animation, and they lost because of it. Similarly, if a player jumps off a building and enters the storm, they fall to their death because of the gas mask animation. The Warzone 2 devs didn’t remove the animation, but finally improved parachuting in Season 4 Reloaded. Season 4 Reloaded makes crucial gas mask quality of life change Buried in the Season 4 Reloaded blog post, Raven Software made a community requested quality of life change for gas masks. “The Gas Mask animation that automatically starts while Players are airborne will be interrupted if a Player decides to pull their parachute.” It sounds a little confusing on the first read-through. Originally, if a player was airborne and attempted to pull their parachute while in the storm, the operator prioritized the gas mask animation first, causing the operator to fall to their death. But now, the parachute animation takes priority over equipping a gas mask. This change does present some risks. Since the operator can’t equip a gas mask, players will take damage in the storm while parachuting. But, at least there is no longer the fear of plummeting to an unfair death. For more, check out the full Season 4 Reloaded patch notes.

  • Warzone finally fixes Gas Mask animation in Season 5 update – Dexerto

Warzone finally fixes Gas Mask animation in Season 5 update ActivisionIn Season 5, Raven Software changes the dynamic gas mask overlay so players no longer worry about obstructed vision when not in the gas. Warzone Season 5 brings back the iconic Superstore location, adds Redeploy Drone Beacons, and buffs and nerfs several weapons to shake up the battle royale’s meta. In addition, the update fixes the gas mask overlay, so it will fade in and out depending on whether you are in the gas. Previously, if players equipped a gas mask, the overlay that limits their vision and cracks when damaged would always be present. To avoid this issue, players stored the mask in their inventory and equipped it when needed. But after this update, players can always have it equipped without worrying about the obstructive overlay. Players celebrated the highly-requested quality of life change. While happy that the change is finally here, some users questioned why it take so long to implement a simple change. “It’s crazy that they took this long to change it,” one player responded. Warzone content creator JGOD agreed with this sentiment and added, “It only took four years and three months, but it has finally happened in Warzone.” Without any information, we don’t know what Infinity War has up its sleeve for Warzone in Black Ops 6. However, some players hope this quality of life change, among others, will be included in the next battle royale. “Changes are being added as we slowly move into BO6 with the OG Inventory. W change,” a second commenter claimed. Until Black Ops 6 launches on October 25, players can enjoy the gas mask change for the rest of this Warzone’s life cycle.

  • Warzone finally adds ‘Eagle Child’ calling card after viral Reddit post – Dexerto

Warzone finally adds ‘Eagle Child’ calling card after viral Reddit post ActivisionWarzone has officially added an ‘Eagle Child’ calling card, after a viral post from one player was so wholesome they couldn’t ignore it. Warzone fast became one of the biggest Call of Duty games in history when it launched in 2020, offering frenetic CoD gameplay in a battle royale environment. Alongside the rise of Warzone on Twitch and with many top streamers on the game, some lingo and terminology rose to the top to be used by all players. For example, “thirsting” someone by killing them while they’re downed, rather than seeking the squad wipe. While these types of words aren’t exclusive to Warzone, it definitely popularized them, and one term that became very common is “ego chall,” short for ego challenge, where you challenge a gunfight despite having a clear disadvantage. In one post that went viral, though, one confused player couldn’t wrap their head around what their favorite streamers were saying, finally asking what an ‘Eagle Child’ is, much to the amusement of the community. Eagle Child goes viral To commemorate the moment, developers Raven Software have brought out an Eagle Child calling card as part of their ‘Warzone Stories’ calling card collection, celebrating some of the biggest moments in Warzone’s more than two-year life span. They said: “Whether you think it’s “Ego Challenge” or “Eagle Child”, we want you to feel represented either way.” They also introduced Calling Cards featuring the Grau, celebrating the original meta, as well as one for the DMR and another targeted at campers on Rebirth Island, as outlined in their Season 5 Reloaded patch notes. The best news is that the calling card is completely free to all users, alongside the mid-season update on September 28, 2022.

  • Warzone finally addresses audio complaints over revive sounds – Dexerto

Warzone finally addresses audio complaints over revive sounds ActivisionSeason 2 Reloaded sees the developers continue to tinker with Warzone’s audio, with the latest patch introducing audio improvements to the revive mechanic. Since its launch, Warzone‘s audio has always been a hot topic of discussion amongst its player base, with each new COD title integration seemingly hampering the experience. That said, the developers have been exceedingly active regarding audio balancing, as numerous patches have addressed the issue to quell player concerns. Season 2’s arrival brought much-needed audio improvements to parachutes, ascenders, and enemy Redeploy Drones. Season 2 Reloaded aims to continue the audio-improving trend, with changes to reviving in-game. Season 2 Reloaded adds revive audio improvements to Warzone As part of the Warzone Season 2 Reloaded update, the following changes have been implemented: The overall volume of reviving a teammate has been slightly increased. – A new, unique sound has been added for reviving a player so that it is significantly more noticeable to nearby players. – Reviving a teammate using a medic vest now has a unique audio cue that players within a small radius can hear. Quality of Life – In the heat of the moment, audio cues like reviving can be pampered out quite easily. The patch attempts to quell those issues, with increased volume and new sounds. There’s also the unique cue that plays for players using medic vests, a new introduction via MW3’s integration. As mentioned with the Season 2 release, Raven Software, and Sledgehammer Games will continue to monitor audio for any improvements. Season 2 Reloaded’s updates are a step in the right direction it seems. Season 2 Reloaded starts March 6 at 9 AM PT | 12 PM EST, with changes also hitting MW3 and Zombies.

  • Warzone Festive Fervor change would be a perfect permanent Gulag overhaul – Dexerto

Warzone Festive Fervor change would be a perfect permanent Gulag overhaul ActivisionUpcoming limited-time changes to Warzone’s Gulag – part of the Festive Fervor event sweeping across Caldera – have been posited as the perfect permanent overhaul to the 1v1 mode. When Warzone first dropped in March of 2020, fans were instantly enamored with the game’s Gulag – a small prison environment in which players were dropped after being eliminated. They then enter a 1v1 to the death, with the winner being transported back into the game, while the loser is left to hope their teammates accumulate the necessary funds to buy them back. It has evolved since then, with plenty of different Gulag environments released for players to fight in. We saw a new Pacific-themed Gulag drop with Caldera, but players have decided an upcoming Festive Fervor change would be perfect for the long run. As it currently stands, Warzone players only get one Gulag per game – when they are first eliminated. Their second elimination sees them forced into spectating teammates or, in Solos, sent back to the lobby. However, a Festive Fervor change coming from Raven on Christmas Day, called Endless Cheer, allows players to continue spawning back in as long as they win their Gulags. In theory, a player dying 3 or 4 times could continue to redeem their own respawning by winning their Gulags. Yellowtoblerone said: “Personally I would like to see Endless [Cheer] in regular BR as a mechanic. Maybe it’ll encourage less campy play later on in the game.” Comment byu/JenNettles from discussion inCODWarzone It’s certainly true that unlimited Gulags might alter play-styles in late-game scenarios. However, some players will likely be concerned by the idea that opponents can die multiple times in one match, without consequences (assuming they win their Gulags). It’s up to Raven to make any changes permanent but, when it comes to Endless Cheer, we wouldn’t mind seeing it become permanent in Warzone Pacific.

  • Warzone February 12 update fixes broken hitmarkers & MW weapon XP: Patch notes – Dexerto

Warzone February 12 update fixes broken hitmarkers & MW weapon XP: Patch notes ActivisionRaven Software have released a brand-new hotfix update for Warzone and it fixes one of the more notable bugs that’s been occurring with players in the game as of late: inconsistent hit markers. For a game that’s so popular with the gaming community, fans still complain of numerous Warzone issues. Seemingly with every update, either a new bug pops up in-game or an old bug rears its ugly head once again, much to the anger of players. Like clockwork, after the last update on February 4, many players noticed a few new bugs affecting the game, including one that was pretty detrimental to the gameplay experience. Now, Raven have released a new hotfix update and it seems to have addressed some of them. It is worth pointing out that this is not a normal patch and is just a game settings update, so you won’t have to download a large patch file in order to get these bug fixes. Just open the game and enjoy. Broken Hitmarkers fixed Easily one of the most-reported bugs after last week’s updates were the inconsistent and broken hitmarkers. Essentially, some players were reporting that hitmarkers simply weren’t showing up at times, which can obviously lead to some frustrating experiences, especially if you’re unsure if you’re actually shooting your target. After letting the community know that they were looking into the issue last week, Raven have now confirmed that the fix is here with the brand-new update. Issues with Weapon XP and Loadout UI Raven have also confirmed two other issues that have been fixed with this hotfix: The first is a bug that was causing weapon XP to not be awarded as intended, which was surely causing some problems for those still playing that aspect of the game. For clarity’s sake, it’s worth pointing out that this is not for Black Ops Cold War multiplayer, so if you still have weapon XP problems with that game, unfortunately, they’ll remain after this update. Beyond that, some UI issues with the loadout menu have also fixed, although it’s unclear exactly what these issues were, so it’s hard to know how widespread it was previously. Still, if you’ve been having problems, the fix is here. Warzone playlist names update 📄 #Warzone update going live momentarily: • Fixed issue causing hit markers to not appear consistently • Fixed issue with weapon XP not awarding as intended in MW multiplayer • Fixed issue with UI elements on the Loadout Menu • Updated Valentine’s weekend playlist names— Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) February 12, 2021 Finally, players will notice a smaller but funnier change the next time they open the game: the names of some of the playlists in-game have been updated to be more…Valentine’s Day-themed. Players will be able to jump into modes like “Warzone Rumble in the Sheets,” as well as “Love and Plunder Trios” throughout the weekend. It’s unclear how long these names will last but they are still the same modes you knew before, just with different names. • Warzone Feb 5 patch notes: Stim glitch fix, Cold War gun changes, new playlists, more – Dexerto

Warzone Feb 5 patch notes: Stim glitch fix, Cold War gun changes, new playlists, more ActivisionRaven Software have released a brand new Warzone update for February 5, patch 1.31, fixing the controversial Stim glitch, improving Black Ops Cold War weapon reloads, and more. The most important aspect of the new Warzone patch is a fix for the Stim glitch issue. The controversial bug allowed players to abuse Stims and remain alive in the gas. This new fix should outright remove the exploit, according to the patch notes. It’s worth keeping in mind, however, this particular problem has been ‘fixed’ multiple times already, to no avail. Another key adjustment in today’s update is for all Black Ops Cold War weapons. Players quickly noticed a major reload issue with Treyarch’s new guns. Sprinting towards the end of the animation would often cancel the reload altogether, leaving you empty-handed. Here’s everything you need to know about the update, including the release times, new playlists, and full patch notes. When is the next Warzone update? • Warzone star FaZe Kalei slams Activision for double standards over ‘sexual tweets’ – Dexerto

Warzone star FaZe Kalei slams Activision for double standards over ‘sexual tweets’ Activision / Instagram: KaleiRenayPopular Warzone streamer FaZe Kalei has lashed out at Activision’s double standards after revealing that her ‘over-sexual tweets’ are the reason she’s blacklisted from big events. Kalei is the most-watched female Warzone streamer by a considerable margin, often ranking as one of the biggest Call of Duty content creators overall in any given month. Despite her popularity and her CoD skills that landed her a spot on FaZe Clan, she’s still held back in one big way. Activision has directly limited Kalei’s presence in official Warzone events. As a result of her ‘non-brand friendly’ tweets, the publishing giant has assured the star streamer never earns a captain spot in major tournaments. From the $400,000 World Series of Warzone competitions to Call of Duty League-backed events, Kalei has been restricted across the board. Fed up with the situation, she just put Activision on blast again. This time, for double standards after official CoD channels promoted a non-brand friendly post from fellow FaZe member Swagg. FaZe appears to be next in line to host a high-stakes Warzone competition. As a result, it would only make sense for FaZe members to be prioritized in captain positions. Unfortunately for Kalei, however, Activision’s ruling is still enforced for her own organization’s event. “Wasn’t allowed to get a captain spot in our own FaZe tourney,” Kalei revealed on February 3. The reason being, Activision takes issue with her “over-sexual tweets.” Meanwhile, mere hours before exposing the conflict, Activision was happy to promote an explicit picture of Swagg. Warzone developers Raven Software even made it the company profile picture for a short stretch. “I will never forget literally begging to get a captain spot for WSOW. Begging the managers but I never got it because I was a brand risk. Now imagine seeing sh** like this almost a year later. Biggest f***ing slap in the face.” “The same company has a [profile picture] of a creator’s a** cheek on a company Twitter,” Kalei stressed. “I’m just heartbroken.” “Everything I’ve done, all the hard work, just to get told that what I do is wrong. But when other guys do sh**, it’s so funny and it’s a huge joke. “I just want to fit in. I just want to be a part of things.” Read More: Call of Duty Warzone 2: everything we know – While she found the tattoo “hilarious” along with the rest of the community, Kalei’s thread was “in no way” a shot at Swagg. Rather, she looked to highlight double standards from those calling the shots and impacting her career. “Imagine being in my shoes seeing sh** like this all the time. I have to stay quiet.” Given the situation hasn’t changed over the past few months, Kalei has recently been jumping into Apex Legends over Warzone. Devs have even shown signs they’d welcome her with open arms compared to Activision’s treatment. Dexerto has reached out to Activision and Warzone tournament operators for further comments.

  • Warzone fans want Raven to copy Battlefield 2042 Portal idea – Dexerto

Warzone fans want Raven to copy Battlefield 2042 Portal idea EA / ActivisionWarzone fans have called on Raven to introduce Battlefield 2042’s Portal feature to Warzone and Call of Duty, which would allow fan-favorite weapons, vehicles, and more into every title, and the battle royale. The Battlefield 2042 trailer impressed large portions of the internet, with many speculating (as normal) over its potential to oust Call of Duty as the world’s biggest and most popular casual FPS series. One major feature that has been raising eyebrows is Battlefield’s new Portal feature. The sandbox mode accompanies the modes Battlefield fans have come to expect from the series and allows players to create their own gaming experiences based on the content of past titles. Every map, weapon, vehicle, and asset from 2042 itself be available in Portal, but so too will elements from previous titles. Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Bad Company 2, and Battlefield 3 will all be brought back to some degree through Battlefield Portal. Such a popular mode was bound to attract attention, and plenty of Call of Duty creators are now calling for the same in Warzone. Players could pick from fan-favorite maps, modes, and more to create their own battle royale experiences. “And that’s how you incorporate remastered content into your game,” Call of Duty insider Tom Henderson said. “I have a feeling we’ll be getting a “Call of Duty Portal” in the next 5 years.” And that’s how you incorporate remastered content into your game. I have a feeling we’ll be getting a “”Call of Duty Portal”” in the next 5 years.#BATTLEFIELD2042 #BATTLEFIELDPORTAL — Tom Henderson (@_Tom_Henderson_) July 22, 2021 Although plenty of CoDs have incorporated the series’ past weapons and maps (no more so than Black Ops Cold War), there has never been an in-game mode specifically devoted to letting players flex their creative and nostalgic muscles. CoD YouTuber Chaosxsilencer was also complimentary, saying it could be the next big thing and asking his followers to imagine a CoD Portal. The Battle Portal truly could be the next BIG THING for creators. Imagine a Call of Duty Portal with BO2, BO3, WaW, MW2, MW3 assets all usable and customizable. pic.twitter.com/ZhSvKHnpav — Chaos (@Chaosxsilencer) July 23, 2021 CoD YouTuber Matterz described it as “mad cool” and wanted to see something similar in Call of Duty. The Battlefield Portal looks mad cool. Imagine if Call of Duty did something like this…🤯 pic.twitter.com/awptCRbiEY — Matt (@Matterzx) July 22, 2021 Ex-Call of Duty caster Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop even shared his own Portal creation – a “fun and wacky” game mode where players can spawn in with any loadout. Extremely excited to announce I worked with the incredible developers at Ripple Effect on creating a custom mode for Battlefield Portal! I wanted it to be a fun and wacky mode where you can spawn in with any random loadout. I need this game in my life NOW. #BattlefieldPartner pic.twitter.com/3ilSb0TMhK — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) July 22, 2021 It’s an incredible addition to Battlefield 2042 and, given the community’s near-constant clamor for a return to past Call of Duty titles, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Activision try and implement something similar in Warzone, future Call of Duty titles, or both.

  • Warzone fans urge devs to increase block list as hackers run riot – Dexerto

Warzone fans urge devs to increase block list as hackers run riot ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone fans want the devs to increase the size of their blocked players list as hackers continue to run riot. When it comes to dealing with Hackers in Warzone, some players have found a few different ways to get their own back. Many will go through the usual channels of reporting them and hoping they get caught up in a ban wave, while many others turn the tables on them by using riot shields and stun grenades. Players also have the option to block and ignore and recent players too, meaning they can’t come across certain accounts in a match again. However, that option is a bit limited in its current state. As it stands, Warzone players are only able to block and ignore around 200 accounts before their lists are filled up, and they want that expanded. Millions of people play this game. Why can we only block 200 ppl or whatever it is?” asked Redditor CapitolJay85. “I’m so sick of wasting 30 mins just to get killed in/near the final circle by someone cheating. But alas, I cannot block them without removing other people.” Some players quickly jumped in with their support of increasing the list, noting that they’ve had to wipe their list clean before just to keep up with the number of hackers they’ve faced. One player suggested that any permanently banned accounts that you have on your blocked list should be automatically removed, just to open a space up. Some Warzone fans noted that the limit is likely related to the game’s server memory, and increasing it could cost a fair bit for Activision. Regardless, players are hoping that once the Ricochet anti-cheat goes live in the coming weeks, that’ll be the answer to their prayers. Though, we’ll just have to wait and see.

  • Warzone fans stunned as UAV prices drastically increased by new holiday event – Dexerto

Warzone fans stunned as UAV prices drastically increased by new holiday event ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone Pacific’s holiday event, Festive Fervor, brings a new tweak each day. But the community is treating December 24’s gift present like coal, shocked at the decision to outright double UAV prices. For each day of Warzone’s Festive Fervor event, Raven Software have added a new wrinkle to the Pacific. One day, melee punch damage was doubled. Another day, killing elves granted players an Armor Satchel. Most recently, on December 23, every player deployed into Caldera with a Gas Mask. But, while those Advent Calendar-esque surprises weren’t insignificant, all pale in comparison to December 24’s edition: a doubling of UAV and halving of Precision Airstrike costs. For Christmas Eve, UAVs will now cost a whopping $12,000 – triple their price in Verdansk and 20% more than a loadout. And, hoping to shove this stuffer back into the stocking, the community is quite displeased. They posted the news with an exclamation point and fun holiday emojis, but the responses have been far from cheery. In the replies, FaZe Clan streamer Swagg responded with a “you cannot be serious” and OpTic creator Sebas said “they gotta be trolling.” Meanwhile, fellow streamer Speros_OG simply pondered: “I thought these were meant to be gifts to the community.” Warzone community stunned by “sad” holiday UAV change Never seen a bigger disconnect with the community. smh https://t.co/fuwgdHwvti — In The Zone (@InTheZoneStats_) December 24, 2021 While there are a few sprinkles of players supportive of the change, the majority sentiment is clear. The word “disconnect” popped up frequently, which streamer KaleiRenay honed in on with her response as well: “You guys are so disconnected with your community, it’s actually so sad.” Fortunately, the change will only last one day. Afterward, the rotation of daily holiday events will continue – with Day 10’s version expected to be “Endless Cheer,” where Gulag winners will be able to keep revisiting the Gulag upon each death.

  • Warzone fans still want Apex Legends feature following Caldera update – Dexerto

Warzone fans still want Apex Legends feature following Caldera update ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players are still urging the developers to bring in some sort of firing range or practice mode so that they can get to grips with new weapons after some expected it to come with Caldera. Even though Call of Duty: Warzone is almost two-years-old, there are plenty of features and changes that players are still hopeful of seeing being brought to the battle royale. These changes range from the big – with console players still desperate for an FOV slider – to the smaller quality of life changes that would help things run a little smoother for everyone. One of the most requested features has been a training mode or firing range, which has been in Call of Duty multiplayer before, and has been used by other battle royales like Fortnite and Apex Legends. Even though it hasn’t launched yet, fans are still hopeful their calls will get through. Warzone players want practice mode With the launch of Caldera, plenty of players have reignited the calls for a training mode, especially with so many new weapons and items being added through the Vanguard integration. One Redditor, KeyKing7, claimed it was more important to the battle royale than adding an FOV slider.” With the influx of new guns and the unusual recoil patterns that Vanguard guns have, it’s the best time to introduce a separate mode simply to try out guns and all of the different attachments,” they said. While many didn’t agree with that necessarily, they do want a firing range to test things out. “A gun range that has targets with the same health as players would be so good,” said one player. “A gun range is very much overdue and I am not sure why they haven’t implemented it yet?” added The_Guvnor_UK. “F**king PUBG has a gun range but Warzone doesn’t?” quizzed another. Some players noted that if you want to test things out in a real game setting, Plunder is your best bet, but there are some who would rather learn a weapon without worrying about disruption. The introduction of a practice mode would be a pretty sizable change, and would likely take time away from changing up Caldera, so we’ll have to keep waiting to see if anything happens.

  • Warzone fans spot real-world Rebirth Island in viral tourist video – Dexerto

Warzone fans spot real-world Rebirth Island in viral tourist video Activision / Pexels, AaronCall of Duty: Warzone players have become very familiar with Rebirth Island, so it’s no surprise that there was a lot of excitement over a tourist’s viral video showing an island that looks eerily similar to the game’s map. When Rebirth Island was first teased, it was through hints at its official real-world inspiration: the Aral Sea’s Vozrozhdeniya Island. In 1954, that island was the base of a Soviet Union’s Aralsk-7, where biological weapons were experimented with. Understandably, then, Rebirth Island bears POIs (points of interest) like “Bioweapons Lab” and “Chemical Engineering.” But, as Black Ops 4’s Blackout fans will remember, it also bears striking similarities to San Francisco, California’s Alcatraz Island. In a recent viral video, a tourist boat showcases the latter island’s similarities in clear view. With a caption trolling about architectural plagiarism, fans are enjoying just how similar Alcatraz looks to Warzone’s smaller map. Originally shared on TikTok by jaydenvibing, the clip has received well over 800,000 views on the platform being shared across Instagram and Twitter by other accounts. With a video showing Alcatraz from the point of view of a tourist boat, a succinct caption reads “they really copied Rebirth Island.” And, while it might not exactly be accurate that the structures shown were copying Rebirth Island — the point still stands: the architecture is strikingly similar. Fans quickly took note of the island’s layout, including a water tower and multi-level buildings bookending a large prison structure in the center. Alcatraz began being used as a federal prison complex back in 1934 before going out of service in 1963. Now, it’s managed by the United States of America’s National Parks Service. For the intrigued crossover fans of Warzone and history, it’s worth noting that Rebirth Island derives its name and purposes (bioweapon engineering and the like) from Vozrozhdeniya Island — but, as that island had no large prison structure, it’s true that obvious inspiration has been taken from Alcatraz as well. As for who copied who, Rebirth’s predecessor, Blackout’s Alcatraz, launched in April 2019 (decades after Alcatraz and Aralsk-7’s constructions). However, it remains unclear how long ago Call of Duty’s developers began planning it — so we refuse to make any assumptions.

  • Warzone fans slam “lame” decision to not use MW3 perk system – Dexerto

Warzone fans slam “lame” decision to not use MW3 perk system ActivisionModern Warfare 3 introduces a new perk system revolving around gear, but Raven Software opted against implementing the changes in Warzone. Modern Warfare 3 removes traditional perks in favor of a gear-based system. Gloves improve weapon handling, Boots improve operator movement, Vests offer loadout versatility, and Gear offers a variety of items that affect your operator. Based on community feedback, Sledgehammer games also did away with the time requirement and made all perks active at the start of a match. Meanwhile, Warzone introduces three new perks. Shrouded deploys a smoke grenade when you are down, and Irradiated makes it possible for players to move faster and take less damage in the gas. And finally, Resolute increases movement speed when damaged. Additionally, Modern Warfare 3 marks the return of the controversial Combat Scout perk. Some players assumed that Warzone would adopt MW3’s gear system in tandem with the three new perks. However, Raven Software decided to go a different direction, leaving a sour taste in the mouths of community members. Warzone players slam absence of MW3 perks Warzone guru TrueGameData reported: “Will be keeping standard perks from MWII for WZ still. no boots/gloves etc., which are in MWIII.” This means that Warzone in MW3 will continue to use Base, Bonus, and Ultimate Perks. WZ players will be able to take advantage of MW3’s slide canceling, increased movement speed, and the ability to ADS while sliding, but they will not get the added benefits of gear items, as seen in multiplayer. Community members questioned the need to separate the perk systems in both games. Warzone content creator Metaphor responded: “This is sadly the worst thing they could do, removing slide canceling and giving us the gear would be better lmao.” Meanwhile, Warzone Loadout added: “That’s really not good news.” And to really hammer the point home, Call of Duty leaker TheGhostOfHope reacted to the news by calling the decision “lame.”

  • Warzone fans slam “delusional” decision to extend Krampus holiday event – Dexerto

Warzone fans slam “delusional” decision to extend Krampus holiday event ActivisionThe Warzone Krampus holiday event hasn’t brought much festive spirit to the community and now players are stuck with the beast even longer as the devs extended its stay. Warzone’s Festive Fervor began on December 17, 2021 and with it came naughty little elves, a holiday makeover, and, of course, Krampus. This monster has been terrorizing the streets of Caldera for quite some time and ruining countless matches. While the mythical beast is going away soon, it will be around longer than expected as Raven Software have extended the divisive holiday event. Raven Software Trello board updated to say Festive Fervor ends January 5th at 10am PT. 😬 pic.twitter.com/zKzOlzE6ny — CharlieIntel (@charlieINTEL) January 3, 2022 Warzone fans upset by holiday event extension According to the Raven Software’s Warzone Trello board, the Festive Fervor is now scheduled to end on January 5 at 10 AM PT. This is an entire extra day than originally planned and players are not fond of it. Warzone players have been haunted by Krampus for nearly three weeks and were looking forward to some changes now that the team has returned from vacation. However, that will need to wait as the event is going on for even longer, which has left the community mind-blown. One fan said, “You’ve got to be f**king joking.” Other players chimed in with their two cents, but none of the replies were rejoicing over this news. While it is only one additional day that players will need to deal with Krampus, the community seem to feel that they have been left in the dust the past few weeks as the game isn’t in the best state. One person said, “Absolutely delusional, [the] game could die at this stage and would be deserved.” Others agreed and are furious as they feel that Raven continues to push Warzone’s issues aside.

  • Warzone fans say good riddance to “terrible” Caldera map – Dexerto

Warzone fans say good riddance to “terrible” Caldera map ActivisionSeptember 21 marks the end of an era as Activision shuts down Warzone Caldera’s servers, yet some community members have already moved on to what lies ahead. Warzone 2 launched in November 2022, but Activision left servers open so players could go back and revisit Caldera. Several content creators such as ZLaner, bbreadman, and JoeWo flocked back to the jungle map in March 2023 because of their frustration with WZ2. However, Caldera became nothing more than an afterthought as Activision went on to add three more battle royale maps. And even when Caldera replaced Verdansk in December 2021, it quickly became abundantly clear that the player base preferred MW 2019’s sprawling city landscape over Vanguard’s remote island. So as Activision officially turns off Caldera’s lights for good, the farewell appears to be much sweeter than bitter on the way out. Warzone closes Caldera chapter but fans don’t bat an eye On September 20, CharlieIntel confirmed: “It is officially the final full day of Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera.” The Call of Duty insider elaborated that Modern Warfare 2019, Black Ops Cold War, and Vanguard multiplayer servers will remain active, but Warzone 1 servers are being shut down for good on September 21. Instead of spending Warzone 1’s final day sending Caldera off in style, community members weren’t too eager to revisit the jungle map again. One player responded: “Good, we can bury the worst map ever and never speak of it again.” A second user added: “In my final game on Caldera I got downed three times inside 30 seconds by a bomber plane before quitting the application and deleting it.” Despite not sharing any sympathy for Caldera. WZ1 shutting down brought up good memories of playing Verdansk during the battle royale’s heyday in 2019. “The end of an era. Caldera won’t be missed, but Warzone 1 will be. WZ arguably got most gamers through lockdown,” a third commenter argued. Players quickly turned their attention from Caldera to whatever Sledgehammer Games has been brewing up for Modern Warfare 3 Warzone.

  • Warzone fans reveal simple addition that’s guaranteed to “improve gameplay” – Dexerto

Warzone fans reveal simple addition that’s guaranteed to “improve gameplay” ActivisionWhen it comes to playing Warzone, you need to make sure you’re stocked up with some top-notch equipment in-game. Now, players are claiming that the simple addition of a gaming monitor will ensure “drastic improvements” in gameplay as well. To be the best in Warzone like Aydan, Tommey, or Biffle, it takes a lot of hard work and practice, but there could be some other elements to take you to the next level without putting in much work. A lot of casual gamers play on a television, but, that could be what’s holding them back from being great. All top Warzone players use a gaming monitor, and the community is claiming this simple upgrade in equipment could make or break how good you are. Warzone players believe monitors are better than TVs In a Reddit post, users plead with Warzone players using a TV to go out and purchase a monitor to shrink their field of view. The OG author says that they used to play on a giant TV, but within three games of switching to the smaller screen, they were able to pick up a victory. With a monitor instead of a TV, they claim that it’s easier to keep track of enemies, and there’s “less confusion” as well. Other people joined in on the conversation, agreeing that a smaller screen is more beneficial. One person said, “I was around a 1.3 K/D when I played on a TV and within a couple of months of switching to a monitor I was around a 2 K/D.” Another Redditor added, “generally speaking going direct to a monitor better than a TV for input latency.” Much like TrueGameData explained on lower input lag, a monitor is better than a TV when it comes to this. With monitors you can get a higher refresh rate, which can allow for more frames to be shown and smoother quality of graphics. While it may not be a “cheap” addition to your gaming setup, players are swearing that it will make you a better player.

  • Warzone fans refusing to play after “utterly ridiculous” playlist update – Dexerto

Warzone fans refusing to play after “utterly ridiculous” playlist update ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players have hit out at the battle royale’s developers for persisting with the Vanguard Royale mode, with some refusing to play until the traditional modes return. Prior to the launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard, plenty of Warzone players were pretty excited about what the integration with the new game would bring to the battle royale. However, to this point, things haven’t quite worked out. Although there was plenty of excitement about the new Caldera map, there have been plenty of complaints about the battle royale’s new setting, as well as frustrations with the new weapons, vehicles, and much more. Those frustrations have also extended to the playlist changes implemented by Raven Software, as they’ve persisted with the Vanguard Royale mode rather than giving players the chance to play the usual BR mode. As anyone who has played Warzone recently knows, Vanguard Royale makes you only use Vanguard weapons and items, while also bringing the attack planes into the fold – which have also been a source of frustration for players. Seeing as the devs are persisting with this mode, some players just aren’t picking up Warzone for a while. “Looks like another week of not playing Warzone… I want to do BR duos but not Vanguard Royale,” said Redditor KlyntPlays. “I understand wanting to push to Vanguard modes to sell the game, but holy s**t is it frustrating to not be able to play regular BR trios, duos, or solo,” commented Pjaywhy. Another played claimed the playlist change is “utterly ridiculous” as the developers “deliberately lock” players out of other modes. “Delete Vanguard Resurgence for the love of God,” begged one player. “They can add Vanguard Resurgence and Vanguard Royale but it shouldn’t be at the expense of the other modes,” noted another. Comment byu/Nintendo_Pro_03 from discussion inCODWarzone Despite its detractors, the mode does have some fans, but even they’d like to see changes – specifically to the in-game messages and time it takes to level up weapons. “Vanguard Royale ain’t bad at all. If they got rid of the aimbot for planes it would be the best mode,” said one supporter of the mode. At the end of the day, however, changes only happen when the developers decide to switch things up, so who knows when that’ll be. Though, there is clearly an appetite for change.

  • Warzone fans obsessing over CoD’s new Attack on Titan “Armored Titan” bundle – Dexerto

Warzone fans obsessing over CoD’s new Attack on Titan “Armored Titan” bundle Activision / FunimationAfter Call of Duty’s disappointing first attempt at an Attack on Titan bundle, the studios seem to have righted their wrongs. A new AoT “Armored Titan” bundle released in Vanguard and Warzone fans are desperate for its release. Attack on Titan is one of the most popular animes in the world at the moment and CoD has matched that passion by bringing the series to the FPS franchise. Unfortunately, the first attempt – a Captain Levi skin – was flamed for being a “dollar-store” costume. Conversely, though, the developers seem to have fortunately taken that feedback in stride. Players were excited when leakers showed off a potential “Armored Titan” skin that looked much closer to the anime and those leaks have come true. In a February 10 update, Vanguard officially added the Armored Titan Operator skin and weapon to the game. Seeing the new content officially, Warzone fans are hungry to get their hands on it. Call of Duty adds new Attack on Titan “Armored Titan” bundle New Attack on Titan skin added to Vanguard in the new update pic.twitter.com/HDAxplnRg1 — CharlieIntel (@charlieINTEL) February 10, 2022 As seen in the screenshots from CharlieIntel, Vanguard’s brought the Armored Titan into the fold. Unlike the Levi skin, this new one is… very true to the anime. While the big brute might not be quite as large as he is in the show, literally everything else looks perfect. Naked, scary, housed in plates of armored flesh – the new bundle is everything the Levi skin wasn’t. Instead of simply outfitting a current Operator in an anime costume, the devs appear to have built the Armored Titan from the ground up. Warzone streamers & fans loving the new AoT “Armored Titan” skin Streamers like FaZe Swagg and TimTheTatman were quick to respond to the new skin. And, as you can tell from their caps-locked reactions, people are very excited about the content. After seeing the skin and gun, Swagg responded with an exasperated “F**K. NEED,” while TimTheTatman called the bundle “LITTTTT.” Read more: Warzone players already worried about new ‘Nebula’ bullets in Season 2 preventing revives – The Armored Titan bundle is currently only available in Vanguard, but is expected to make its way to Warzone with the next update. Once that patch releases, you can be sure to expect a lot of anime skins kicking down walls across the map.

  • Warzone fans mourn “useless” C4 after suspected silent nerf – Dexerto

Warzone fans mourn “useless” C4 after suspected silent nerf Activision / PixabayCall of Duty: Warzone fans are officially grieving. Unsure if a bug or a silent nerf is to blame, players are simply accepting a sad state of affairs and extending their condolences, as C4s have officially become “useless.” In the beginning of Warzone, C4s reigned supreme across Verdansk. The lethal equipment could be thrown far, deal a lot of damage to normal players, and absolutely obliterate vehicles at the push of a button. Fast forward a couple years, and a couple of nerfs, and it seems that the C4 isn’t just out of the meta. Already forgotten in lieu of Semtex grenades and Throwing Knives, the C4 is being pushed further into irrelevance. As players have been noticing over the past couple of weeks, C4s no longer seem able to even harm vehicles – let alone players. This has rendered them unusable and Warzone players have already reached the final stages of grief. Warzone players confused by “useless” C4: Bug or silent nerf? Multiple Reddit threads point to a common issue, as ‘trp8’ voiced a communal concern: “Is C4 useless?” The once-beloved explosive no longer one-taps vehicles, leaving many confused. Two possible explanations arose: either C4s were silently nerfed in a recent update or their inefficiency is a result of a bug that buffed vehicles. Unsure whether the explosives were secretly nerfed or are simply bugged, the community is painfully accepting the new predicament. Another Reddit user created a visual eulogy for C4s, remembering the good times. Warzone fan eulogizes C4s Shared by ‘villabrus,’ the video’s title is a simple one: “RIP C4. The last few years have been great.” The clip shows “pre-nerf” highlights and leads into a “it’s been great knowing you, C4” before ending with a comical example of how ineffective the explosives now are. One theory, at the moment, is that a glitch is giving every vehicle buffed health after the addition of Warzone’s new Armored Trucks. Unfortunately, this C4 issue isn’t on Raven Software’s Trello board for the game – so it’s impossible to know exactly is to blame for the community’s grief.

  • Warzone fans mindblown as player turns into “bird” while parachuting – Dexerto

Warzone fans mindblown as player turns into “bird” while parachuting Activision / PexelsIn Call of Duty: Warzone, there is a lot of wildlife that roams around while players fight for their lives. While they can be easy to distinguish, players have lost their minds as they witness a human turn into a bird. Birds are no strangers to Warzone. In the past, they have been great scouts and could give away your position but we have never been able to play and look like one. There are well over 100 Operator skins that players can use in Warzoneand none actually have wings. However, the BR’s latest visual bug has people absolutely losing it as they watch someone transform into a bird. Warzone bug turns player into bird while dropping in We’ve seen weird parachuting bugs before in which players would get an extra arm but didn’t affect the gameplay. However, this Reddit clip by ‘nungoopungoo’ had the Warzone community in an uproar as a player dropped into Rebirth Island as an eagle. From the clip, we notice that the player is using the Ghostface Operator skins from the Halloween event. But for some reason, when they were parachuting onto the roof they looked completely like a bird. This has players concerned that it will give a competitive advantage to those using the Scream skin as they can blend in perfectly with wildlife on the map. One player didn’t even realize that it was another person, “At first I was like, ‘How did he mark a bird.’” While another player added: “What the f**k, that was really a bird!” This can be a huge problem as the game transitions into the new Warzone Pacific map since this Operator skin just blends in with the tropical map’s wildlife. At a glance, it doesn’t appear to be anything suspicious but up close players are realizing that they need to prepare for a gunfight. At the time of writing this, Activision hasn’t identified this as an issue but players are at a loss for words as they witness this transformation.

  • Warzone fans laud Fortune’s Keep map as ‘better than Rebirth Island’ already – Dexerto

Warzone fans laud Fortune’s Keep map as ‘better than Rebirth Island’ already ActivisionPlayers are loving the changes Fortune’s Keep has made to Warzone already. Warzone players have had a little time to adjust to the brand new Fortune’s Keep map and the reviews are rolling in fast. Some even think Season 4’s new arena might be better than the fan-favorite Rebirth Island thus far. Now that the dust has had time to settle on the Season 4 update, fans are getting comfortable voicing their opinion on all of the Warzone’s new changes. Chief on that list is the debut of Fortune’s Keep, the game’s 4th new map in two years, and while the party is just getting started on the Mercenary hideout, the community is all smiles about the way it plays so far. Warzone fans laud Fortune’s Keep for new gameplay opportunities The praise has rolled in hot for Fortune’s Keep from Warzone players across the internet. One thread on Reddit highlighted the new energy that it brings to the game and fans quickly piled up to add their favorite things about it to the pile. One commenter credits it with making them fall back in love with the game for the first time in a while: “It’s completely reinvigorated my (and my squad’s) love of Warzone again.” Another player echoed those comments and added that the new battlefield has completely taken over their thoughts, even when there’s more important tasks in front of them. “Not that we ever really fell out of love with Warzone, but it’s more like I’m finding myself daydreaming at work again, counting down the minutes until I can go home and log on,” they said. The love didn’t stop there. Twitter users also got in on the fun and shared their experiences so far. Now that Season 4 has been out for a day, which is better? #Warzone pic.twitter.com/Tao3A4ixcy — CharlieIntel (@charlieINTEL) June 23, 2022 When comparing FK to the classic Rebirth Island, one passionate fan noted how a fresh sandbox to play in makes things more exciting than before. “They’re both extremely fun, but I’m gonna have to say Fortune’s Keep. It’s completely original and offers so many more gameplay opportunities.” It remains to be seen if the Fortune’s Keep will hold up over time but it’s clear that the Warzone community is more than satisfied with the developers’ latest efforts for the time being.

  • Warzone fans irate that “overpowered” Bren still hasn’t been nerfed – Dexerto

Warzone fans irate that “overpowered” Bren still hasn’t been nerfed ActivisionWarzone players are losing their minds after the another update to the battle royale still didn’t nerf the extremely strong Bren LMG. Raven Software released a Warzone patch on February 24, which fixed a stealth buff to the PPSh that made it one of the best guns ever. However, while the devs remedied some other core issues of the game, one the biggest wasn’t touched by the team. Vanguard’s Bren has been ruling the Pacific ever since Season 1 and nearly three months later, it’s still the strongest weapon in the game. Warzone fans demand Bren nerf Following a tweet from Raven Software that highlighted a patch, Warzone fans were super confused why there were no changes to the Bren. Players have been complaining about the popular LMG for over two months as they feel it is way too strong. Content creator Expel was part of the crowd that didn’t understand why this wasn’t touched. He sarcastically replied, “Excited to hop on and use the Bren until season 3.” One Twitter user said, “So that’s a no on the Bren nerf…” While another added, “So nothing done about the Bren? Awesome.” This has been the best long-range weapon since Warzone Pacific Season 1, which started on December 8. Players didn’t stop on Twitter as they also took their frustrations to Reddit. Redditor ‘YoungMurf’ was furious with Raven Software. In an explicit message they said, “How the f**k has the Bren not been nerfed even from that s***ty ‘nerf’ it got a while back?” The “s***ty nerf” they are referring to was the one it got when Season 2 released. Despite this attempt to weaken the weapon, it still remained the most picked and strongest weapon in the BR. This has Warzone fans rallying for a change in the meta as they feel this gun takes “zero skill.” There is no telling if a nerf is coming soon, but the community is going to be vocal until it happens.

  • Warzone fans infuriate hacker conspiracy theorists with “toxic” 1v1 challs – Dexerto

Warzone fans infuriate hacker conspiracy theorists with “toxic” 1v1 challs Reddit / ActivisionDespite Vanguard’s release, the Call of Duty: Warzone community is still full of spice. And now, the ‘all streamers are hackers’ conspiracy theorists are getting very upset, as players are sending them 1v1 challenges. There is a subset of Warzone fans that believes the majority of top-tier streamers are hacking. You don’t have to go very far to find them, as they’ll typically respond to anything a big streamer does with angry hack accusations. While it’s good that they’re passionate about the game and apply a critical lens, they’ve also received backlash. And now that backlash has evolved in the most Call of Duty way imaginable: streamer defenders are challenging the hack accusers to in-game 1v1s. It’s a classic way to settle CoD disputes, but they’re not happy about it. Instead, they want these challengers banned from Reddit for ‘abuse’ and ‘toxicity.’ Warzone hacker conspiracy theorists bothered by 1v1 challs As you see in a post to the ‘StreamersCheating’ subreddit, ‘CODAMIT’ was unhappy with a series of DMs they received. Scrolling through their Reddit account, CODAMIT has accused Aydan, MuTeX, Swagg, and CDL pros of cheating — while insulting JGOD as well. In response to these sorts of defamatory remarks, a user DM’d their Activision ID saying “play me.” Going further, they explained why CODAMIT should accept the 1v1 chall: “you’re dimwitted if you really think CDL pros cheat, prove me wrong. I play on PS4, no way I can cheat.” In essence, the challenger seems to be suggesting that their skill superiority on console without cheats should prove that hacks aren’t necessary to be good at the game. This is a common line of thinking in the streamer-defender world. In the replies, this simply turned into arguments about whether or not cheats (other than Cronus) exist on console. There were also comments about the DMs not being that toxic and hoping CODAMIT would accept the challenge. As of yet, it remains unclear whether or not those wishes were granted. The lessons learned here are twofold. One, hack accusers don’t like being challenged to 1v1s (or being called “dimwitted”). Two, if you do decide to accuse a pro of cheating, be prepared for a 1v1 chall in the DMs.

  • Warzone fans impressed as Joe Burrow hits an “IRL slide cancel” during Super Bowl – Dexerto

Warzone fans impressed as Joe Burrow hits an “IRL slide cancel” during Super Bowl Activision / Twitter, @BengalsCall of Duty: Warzone fans were surprised with battlefield flashbacks during the Super Bowl, as Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow seemingly pulled off a “slide cancel” mid-game. Super Bowl LVI was one for the history books, as the Los Angeles Rams defined their legacies with a back-and-forth, 23-20 victory over the Bengals. While Cincinnati QB Joe Burrow took an “L” in the big game, he also finessed what PlayStation controller players will recognize as a “double-circle, X” combination as well. The sophomore star had an incredibly smooth QB slide during the third quarter and CoD fans immediately recognized the mechanic. After running for a first down, Joe Shiesty brought Warzone’s patented slide-cancel mechanic to SoFi Stadium. Instantly, CoD Twitter rejoiced. Joe Burrow hits Warzone “slide cancel” in Super Bowl As you can see in the clip from CharlieIntel, Joe Brr was moving icy in the third quarter. Nursing a 17-13 Bengals lead, the 25-year-old finessed his way out of the pocket on 4th and 1 to secure a new set of downs. Capping it off, the former 2021 NFL Comeback Player of the Year showed his rookie year ACL tear isn’t bothering him anymore. Instead of sliding to a full stop to avoid contact, Joey Franchise essentially popped back up into a standing position as soon as his knee touched grass. This slick behavior was not lost on the Warzone community, as streamers like FaZe Swagg immediately reacted: “Joey just slide cancel?” With CI calling it an “IRL slide cancel” and CDL pro Preston ‘Prestinni’ Sanderson calling it a “CoD slide cancel for sure,” everyone was unanimously impressed by Call of Duty’s cameo in the Super Bowl. While Burrow’s cracked movement wasn’t enough to overcome the Rams’ offense and, more notoriously, defensive line – the game was far from a failure for the young gunslinger. This was the Bengals’ first Super Bowl trip since 1988 and, should they make it back in 2023, Warzone fans will be wondering what other tricks Shiesty has up his sleeve.

  • Warzone fans hopeful for fixes & balancing as devs return from holidays – Dexerto

Warzone fans hopeful for fixes & balancing as devs return from holidays ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone is in such a messy state that players are keeping track of the developers’ holiday vacation. Now, with that break ending, players are hoping that bugs will be fixed and weapons will be balanced. On December 22, Warzone fans learned that the game’s developers were heading into holiday vacation. Additionally, it was revealed that the strike surrounding quality assurance testers was still ongoing and had been met with “no response.” Now, around two weeks later, those devs are reportedly returning to work and won’t have any shortage of items to deal with. From invisible skins and hackers to overpowered shotguns and fire ammo, players have a long list of needed fixes. At this point, complaints about the game have ranged from Activision’s direction for the franchise coming under question to even JGOD asking how appropriate that vacation time was. If around 99 Warzone employees are on strike, it’s unclear just how much they’ll be able to accomplish and just how quickly. Regardless, a number are turning to work and that means there’s a chance for the game’s issues to start getting fixed.

Warzone fans furious as XP tokens unusable following Season 1 update TreyarchCall of Duty fans have been left frustrated after finding out that Modern Warfare Double XP and Double Weapon XP tokens aren’t available to use in Warzone anymore. Following the huge Season One update, Treyarch’s battle royale now falls under Black Ops Cold War, and is no longer only linked with Modern Warfare. While the update has mostly pleased fans, there is one side-effect that’s not gone down too well. Any XP tokens saved up prior to the Season One update are now locked to Modern Warfare, meaning they can’t be spent in Warzone. For players who don’t own Modern Warfare and use Warzone as a standalone title, these tokens have essentially been rendered useless. The frustrating news was pointed out on the Warzone subreddit in a thread titled, “They have stripped us of XP tokens. I’ve purchased every Battle Pass on this game and now they’ve taken the privilege to remove content I’ve paid for.” The thread has hundreds of comments from disgruntled fans, with many pointing out that the Double XP tokens were earned after purchasing the Battle Pass, meaning they aren’t just losing out on something they got given for free. “If I had known I would’ve used them all before the update,” wrote one player. Another added, “This is absolute robbery. We need to up the stink on Twitter and elsewhere. I worked my a*s off to get those tokens and now they simply steal them.” Even players who weren’t that bothered about losing their tokens have recognized that it’s a disappointing decision. “I had 70-80 tokens. I never use them, but sucks to lose them,” said one Warzone fan. “I started collecting them since season 2; didn’t buy the battle pass till 5 and I got others from the CoD app. All gone now.” It’s likely that Treyarch and Activision locked these previously-earned tokens to Modern Warfare to encourage players to earn Black Ops Cold War tokens instead, and to avoid them levelling up new weapons faster than intended. That won’t make it any less frustrating for fans, though. Another change in the Season One update that’s had a poor reaction is the Warzone weapon camo designs, with players calling the new Diamond camo design “terrible” in comparison to the Black Ops Cold War design.
