Warzone 2 guru unveils Kastov-74u build that “insta kills” in Solos ActivisionWarzone 2 content creator Metaphor has revealed a Kastov-74u build that “insta kills people up close”, netting 30 kills and winning a match while demonstrating the impressive setup. Warzone 2.0’s meta is constantly evolving, with players and content creators finding “the new meta” seemingly every day. SMGs remain a popular option among the fanbase, with Fennec 45 or the Minibak shining as examples of strong up-close problem solvers. The Kastov-74u is classified as an assault rifle, but the fanbase have essentially treated it as an SMG since launch, modifying the gun for its best effective range. Both Kastov rifles have been in the spotlight since the beta of Modern Warfare 2, but sadly the Kastov-74u fell off slowly but surely. Maybe this great build by Methaphor will change the communities mind. Metaphor makes Kastov-74u shine with his “insta kill” loadout for Warzone 2 Season 1 In a December 9 YouTube video, Metaphor shared his build to improve the Kastov-74u’s ADS time, accuracy and damage. “This is probably my new favorite SMG in the game,” he said. “I noticed this gun is just a lot more consistent up close. With the high-velocity bullets, it makes it so if you’re shooting somebody you don’t get that weird feeling where there’s a lot of bullet drop on your SMGs.” That’s high praise coming from someone who is intimately familiar with nearly all the guns in the game. His full loadout is as follows: Underbarrel: FTAC Tiger Grip – Ammunition: 5.45 High Velocity – Rear Grip: True-TAC Grip – Laser: FSS Ole-V – Stock: Markeev R7 – This build was made by the content creator specifically for Solo play. If players are using the Kastov in trios or quads, he recommended swapping out the grip for a 45-round magazine so players have more bullets for multiple enemies. An assault rifle or sniper rifle should take up the other weapon slot to round out the overall options the player has – but anyone caught up close with the Kastov-74u will definitely feel its sting.

Warzone 2 guru unveils forgotten AR that’s “insane” in Season 2 Reloaded – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru unveils forgotten AR that’s “insane” in Season 2 Reloaded ActivisonWarzone 2 expert Metaphor has showcased a loadout for an underused AR that’s “insane” in Season 2 Reloaded and dominates opponents at mid-range. Warzone 2’s Season 2 Reloaded patch finally arrived on March 15 and it’s safe to say the update shook up the meta. With a huge amount of balance changes and a brand-new weapon in the Tempus Torrent, it’s difficult to know which guns are worth using after the recent buffs & nerfs. While choices like the ISO Hemlock, TAQ-56, and Sakin MG38 are the obvious choices, sometimes it’s more fun to use an off-meta pick. Well, Warzone guru Metaphor has identified a powerful AR that’s being slept on, and it could be the weapon to take your skills to the next level in Season 2 Reloaded. Best Lachmann-556 loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Barrel: 15.9″ Lachmann Rapp Barrel – Muzzle: RF Crown 50 – Underbarrel: Phase-3 Grip – Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – Following the Season 2 Reloaded patch, Metaphor believes the “insane” Lachamnn 556 is well-worth adding to your loadout list. The deadly AR packs a punch and while it may not be a long-range laser beam, it dominates foes at mid-range with its powerful TTK. Equipped with the Cronen Mini Pro, Phase-3 Grip, and RF Crown 50 barrel, the Lachmann has minimal recoil, making it easy to land every single bullet on your opponents. For Metaphor, it’s the ultimate solo carry class, so if you’re comfortable being a lone wolf on Al Mazrah, this is the setup for you. Currently, the Lachmann 556 has an incredibly low 0.5% pick rate, so it’s clear the WZ2 community is sleeping on this AR. So, if you enjoy utilizing off-meta weapons and finding hidden gems that are going under the radar, the Lachmann 556 is the pick for you.

Warzone 2 guru unveils fastest-killing STB 556 loadout & it’s a must-use – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru unveils fastest-killing STB 556 loadout & it’s a must-use ActivisonThe STB 556 received a buff as part of the Season 3 update, leading FaZe Booya to claim it’s one of the best weapons in Warzone 2. Season 3’s weapon balancing opened the door for new guns to compete for a place in Warzone 2’s long-range meta. The ISO Hemlock and TAQ-56 received slight nerfs, while the STB 556 saw huge improvements across the board. In Modern Warfare 2019, the AUG was an underrated SMG, which constantly competed as a viable weapon for Warzone and Multiplayer matches. MW2 converted the balanced weapon into an AR and renamed it the STB 556. Unfortunatley, harder-hitting rifles have overshadowed the STB 556 until now – but Infinity Ward beefed up its damage, leading to Booya proclaiming the weapon as must use. Booya explains why the STB 556 is the best AR for Ashika Island FaZe Booya tested the STB 556 on Ashika Island and couldn’t believe how powerful the weapon had become post-weapon balancing. The update increased the STB’s headshot, leg, and torso damage, as well as increasing its mid-range damage distance. “This gun got a buff in the Season 3 update, and I was blown away by how good it is,” he admitted. “In my honest opinion, for medium and close range on Ashika Island, it is probably the best gun all-around.” Booya admitted that the ISO Hemlock is better for longer-range engagements, but he still prefers the STB 556 due to its “amazing” damage output and impressive accuracy. Best STB 556 loadout in Warzone 2 Season 3 Here is Booya’s STB 556 loadout with attachment tuning included: Muzzle: 24.4″ Bruen S-620 (+0.50, +0.40) – Barrel: Silentfire XG6 (+1.40, 1.00) – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 (+0.80, +0.40) – Magazine: 42 Round Mag – Optic: Aim OP-V4 (-3.00, +1.80) – Booya tested multiple muzzles, but believes the Silentfire is the best for ADS speed and damage range. “After using all of the ARs, I would probably rank this one the best for medium range,” he said. This loadout is perfect for medium-range engagements on Ashika Island, but also has plenty of potential to wreak havoc in the new Massive Resurgence game mode.

Warzone 2 guru unveils AR with “lethal” TTK that no one uses – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru unveils AR with “lethal” TTK that no one uses ActivisonWarzone 2 expert WhosImmortal has revealed a top-tier loadout for a “lethal” AR that’s being ignored by the community despite having a “fantastic TTK”. Season 2 Reloaded has arrived in Warzone 2 and alongside a huge amount of balance changes, the patch added the Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle to the weapon pool. As you would expect, the update has shaken up the meta and has given players the chance to experiment with less popular weapons. While it can be fun testing out a bunch of guns until you find a hidden gem, sometimes it’s better to let an expert do the thinking for you. Luckily, Warzone 2 YouTuber WhosImmortal has identified an underrated AR that’s being slept on by the community, despite being “lethal” at close quarters. Best Kastov-74u loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Barrel: BR209 Barrel – Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser – Stock: Markeev R7 Stock – Rear Grip: Demo-X2 Grip – Magazine: 45-Round Mag – Unlike a lot of ARs and SMGs, the Kastov-74u didn’t receive any changes in Season 2 Reloaded, so it’s maintained its power while other weapons have dropped down the tier list. For WhosImmortal, the gun’s lethality at close quarters and “fantastic TTK” mean it’s incredibly unique in the AR category and can contest a lot of the meta SMGs. Not only that, it’s a brilliant sniper support as it has a stronger damage range than other picks like the Fennec 45 and Lachmann Sub. This versatility could make it the perfect choice for Ashika Island, so if you’re a fan of the fast-paced map, it may be with testing out the Kastov-74u. Topic starts at 9:46 WhosImmortal’s loadout aims to push the AR’s damage to the limit, while also keeping its ADS time low so you can snap onto opponents and always get the first shot off. With a 0.8% pick rate according to WZRanked, the Kastov-74u has been forgotten by the community and could be the underrated weapon to take your kill count to new highs.

Warzone 2 guru unveils an “insane” build for an underrated submachine gun – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru unveils an “insane” build for an underrated submachine gun ActivisionWarzone 2 expert Metaphor has showcased a new BAS-P SMG build which he claims is “insane” despite the gun itself having only a 0.3% pick rate overall. Despite being in the game since the launch of Warzone 2, the BAS-P submachine gun was not popular among Warzone 2 players. According to WZ Ranked, this weapon is still sitting at an extremely low 0,3% pick rate. Seems like a miraculous resurgence of BAS-P is not in the cards, as the SMG category of weapons is hotly contested between the Fennec, Lachmann Sub, and the Vaznev-9K. Metaphor, an expert Warzone 2 content creator, claims that this weapon can actually be a very viable mid-range weapon, despite being an SMG. His January 21 video details which specific build this Call of Duty veteran used to bring out the gun’s hidden potential. Warzone 2 “insane” BAS-P build “I actually found a really, really nice loadout with it. I was mopping people with this thing, going absolutely crazy,” said Metaphor while showcasing the BAS-P in his video. He then added: “When it comes to mid-range this thing is an absolute monster. I highly recommend trying this out.” The full customization is as follows: Barrel: 10.5″ Bruen Typhon – Magazine: 50 Round Mag – Rear grip: D37 Grip – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – Stock: Ravage-8 – Metaphor states that battles at close range are not the strong point of this build, and when using it players should use it for medium ranges as a support weapon for a sniper rifle. So remember to pick up a long-range option like the Signal 50 or the SP-X 80 sniper rifle for the best possible synergy between your weapons and the greatest coverage for different types of situations at different ranges.

Warzone 2 guru unearths overpowered optic “with no counter” – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru unearths overpowered optic “with no counter” Activision BlizzardChoosing an optic in Warzone 2 ultimately comes down to personal preference, but Warzone 2 expert JGOD revealed an optic that’s hard to pass up. Warzone 2 features over 40 different optic selections and attachment tuning add an extra layer of customization. New to WZ2, players can adjust the eye position of a scope. Moving it further away gives more visibility around the sight while moving the eye position closer results in a more precise shot. With so many options, it’s an overwhelming process trying to choose the best optic. Players gravitated toward using the VLK 4.0 optic in Warzone 1 because the scope provided a clean sightline and served as a good in-between a long and short-range scope. While in Warzone 2, the AIM OP-V4 emerged as an early favorite. JGOD compared iron sights, the VLK 4.0, AIM OP-V4, and the SZ Holtherm, and came up with an unexpecting conclusion for which is the best. JGOD reveals underrated Warzone 2 optic In his latest YouTube video, JGOD urged players to try out the SZ Holtherm optic before it gets nerfed. “Smokes have become part of the meta because it allows you to reposition yourself, especially with the fast TTK.” Smoke grenades allow players to reposition and move between covers, but JGOD discovered a perfect counter with the SZ Holotherm optic. JGOD tested the aim down sight speed for iron sights, AIM-OP V4, SZ Holotherm, and VLK 4.0 and concluded the VLK 4.0 is 10ms slower than the SZ Holotherm and AIM OP-V4. He also argued that the Holotherm and AIM OP-V4 have a similar scope size, but the Holotherm doesn’t give off any glint when aiming down sight, giving it an edge. The Warzone 2 expert also discovered that the thermal scope is immune to the Cold Blooded Perk, which is supposed to make players undetectable by thermal optics. JGOD tested his theory by calling in a cruise missile against an AI enemy to confirm that cold-blooded was working. Next, he threw a smoke grenade, and the enemy still appeared in the smoke, despite having the perk equipped. “There is literally no counter, so if you end up in late game where people are trying to rotate with smoke, you will be able to beam them, and there won’t be anything to stop your vision.” Having the ability to see through smoke grenades could be the difference between winning or losing a match, so give this scope a try for yourself while you still can.

Warzone 2 guru uncovers “hidden” attachment buffs that overhaul meta loadouts – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru uncovers “hidden” attachment buffs that overhaul meta loadouts ActivisionWarzone 2 YouTuber WhosImmortal has highlighted some “hidden” attachment stats that will prompt some big changes to your current crop of loadouts. Over the last few years, Call of Duty players have been given a new level of customization when it comes to weapons and loadouts, as more attachments than ever have been added with the new Gunsmith feature. That has been taken to new levels in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, as there is now the ability to tune weapons in different ways. More focus can now be put on counteracting recoil or adding bullet velocity at the expense of other stats. Naturally, a meta has taken shape and the majority of players are utilizing the most popular weapon builds. However, that might just change thanks to some “hidden” attachment stats that have been uncovered. Hidden Warzone 2 loadout stats uncovered to change meta loadouts Popular CoD content creator WhosImmortal highlighted the secret stats in his January 29 video, noting that a number of attachments don’t actually work as advertised. We’ve already seen a bit of this with underbarrels, but using stats from Sym.GG, the YouTuber noted there’s a number of others too. These include the Kastovia DX90 and Zulu-60 muzzles, the latter of which actually buffs weapon range despite its in-game description saying it should nerf it. “Those stats are incorrect in-game and we wouldn’t have known that if we didn’t have these raw datamined stats,” the YouTuber said. He also noted that the ZLR Talon also helps recoil control significantly, while the Polarfire-S and Echoline GS-X do not help. The latter are supposed to improve recoil control, and have become popular attachments. WhosImmortal added these uncovered stats are a “pretty huge deal” as players can ditch their chosen muzzles for the Zulu-60, given that is actually the most powerful of the bunch. It remains to be seen if the devs will update the in-game descriptions of these or actually update the stats so they’re working as intended.

Warzone 2 guru uncovers “game-changer” attachment for no recoil SMGs – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru uncovers “game-changer” attachment for no recoil SMGs ActivisionThere is a “broken” SMG attachment in Warzone 2 that could be a “game-changer” when it comes to eliminating recoil, and experts are already jumping on board with it. Over the last few years, the Create-A-Class and weapon tuning systems in Call of Duty have undergone some big changes from game to game, with Warzone 2 expanding on that in a big way. In the latest CoD battle royale title, weapon tuning has been enhanced so that you can step your favorite guns up in a multitude of ways. Want to focus solely on bullet velocity? Done, but expect some serious recoil. Want to up your mobility speed? Sure, but don’t count on winning any fights over 20 meters. Those tuning changes have, naturally, allowed a few mistakes to slip through the gaps. Some attachments do more than the devs planned, while others just don’t exist despite there being plans for them. “Broken” SMG attachment significantly nerfs recoil in Warzone 2 Well, another of these attachment quirks has been highlighted by Warzone 2 YouTuber TheKoreanSavage, as one particular muzzle is nerfing recoil in a big way. It’s the Bruen Pendulum muzzle, which already states that it gives players “significant vertical recoil control and increased accuracy.” Though, the YouTuber believes it is “broken” and does a lot more than it already promises. “Genuinely, I think it’s a game-changer,” he said, noting that he uses the attachment on hip-fire builds to add “long-range confidence” in fights. Just like the “OP” Overpressured Rounds that were uncovered back in Season 2, the attachment is only specific to SMGs, so you can’t rush out at add it to your AR and LMG classes. It remains to be seen if the devs will put the muzzle under the microscope and nerf it, or if they’ll just leave it be for now.

Warzone 2 guru turns underrated LMG into the “fastest killing” in Al Mazrah – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru turns underrated LMG into the “fastest killing” in Al Mazrah ActivisionWarzone 2 expert Kxpture has showcased a “deadly” build that utilizes one of the most underrated LMGs in the game. The 556 Icarus remains one of the less popular picks from the light machinegun category. The meta of Warzone 2 is, and has been since release, favoring the RPK LMG, which remains the most picked gun in the CoD BR sequel. Despite this, certain players and content creators are able to come up with strong builds that turn these non-meta guns into viable picks. One such build was featured by content creator Kxpture in his January 28 video. The content creator described the Icarus as incredibly deadly at medium range. Warzone 2 “deadly” 556 Icarus loadout “I used the 556 Icarus in Warzone 2. This thing is actually really good, man,” said Kxpture, “With how fast this thing shoots, it just makes it deadly for medium and long range.” The full customization is as follows: Muzzle: Komodo Heavy – Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity – Rear Grip: Sakin ZX Grip – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – Stock: Corio Precio Factory – Kxpture described the build as being oriented around medium-range battles where you need to knock down the enemy in the fastest manner possible. But he did underline that you need a backup close-range option at hand. With that in mind for your second weapon slot, you ought to pick up something that will give you the edge in close-quarter fights, so the ever-dominant Fennec is probably the safest option to fill that slot.

Warzone 2 guru reveals versatile AR hybrid loadout – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals versatile AR hybrid loadout ActivisonThere is a clear consensus on Warzone 2’s best short and long-range meta weapons, but WhosImmortal discovered a perfect hybrid option. Season 2 Reloaded established a new meta for Warzone 2. Instead of an RPK in medium and long-range engagements, players turned to the ISO Hemlock. And the Lachmann Sub or Vaznev 9-K replaced akimbo pistols up close and personal. What makes a weapon truly powerful, however, is versatility. All three meta weapons mentioned above dominate at their preferred ranges but don’t offer a complete package. A player could always use Overkill and equip an AR and SMG simultaneously, but the Kastov-74U kills two birds with one stone. WhosImmortal explained why the Kastov-74U outperforms most SMGs and competes with the battle royale’s top ARs. WhosImmortal ranks the Kastov-74U third in weapon ranking WhosImmortal ranked the top 10 meta loadouts in Warzone 2 and surprisingly ranked the Kastov-74U third. According to WZ Ranked, the Kastov-74U is only the 17th most popular weapon with a measly .9% pick rate. Despite not receiving too much attention, WhosImmortal explained why he is “really enjoying” his time using the underrated AR. “It is really good in close range, outgunning SMGs, but also really good mid-range, outgunning other rifles and SMGs, extending that diversity in the number of gunfights you can consistently win.” Some WZ2 members tout the Chimera as a perfect hybrid AR, but the YouTuber argued a faster fire rate elevates the AK-74U into a higher tier. WhosImmortal claimed: “The Kastov-74U has a really good velocity, making it way more versatile.” Best Kastov-74U Warzone 2 loadout Here is WhosImmortal’s go-to Kastov-74U loadout with attachment tuning included. He opted to cater his loadout to a fast, aggressive playstyle, which shreds through opponents with a quick TTK. Barrel: BR209 Barrel (+0.18, -0.19) – Laser: FSS Ole-V Laser (-0.24, -27.97) – Rear Grip: Demo-X2 Grip (-0.65, -0.22) – Stock: Markeev R7 Stock (-2.19, -1.32) – Magazine: 45-Round Mag – This loadout eliminates the need to constantly switch between weapons depending on the range of an engagement. However, the AK-74U only thrives in short or medium-range engagements, so we recommend pairing this weapon with a sniper rifle or marksman rifle. Sniper rifles don’t one-shot enemies, but landing one shot and then pushing in to finish the job with the AR is a lethal one-two punch.

Warzone 2 guru reveals underused SMG loadout that dominates in Season 3 Resurgence – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals underused SMG loadout that dominates in Season 3 Resurgence ActivisionWarzone 2 expert WhosImmortal explained why the PDSW (P90) dominates Season 3 Resurgence matches on Ashika Island and Al Mazrah. Season 3 slightly altered Warzone 2’s short-range meta. The Vaznev-9K, Vel 46, and Lachmann Sub received nerfs, while the Bas-P and MX9 returned to relevancy as part of the weapon balancing update. According to WZ Ranked, the Vaznev is still Warzone 2’s second most popular weapon, but WhosImmortal believes the latest season update introduced a new contender for the battle royale’s best SMG. Is the P90 Warzone 2’s best SMG? WhosImmortal listed the top 5 Resurgence loadouts for Warzone 2 Season 3 and highlighted an M4 PDSW combo as a great option if you are looking for an alternative to sniping but still want to engage in gunfights at all ranges. He explained what makes the PDSW so dominant “The P90 is probably the best SMG in the game right now. It has insane movement, really good TTK, and is also easy to use.” Best P90 Warzone 2 loadout Here is WhosImmortal’s P90 loadout with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: Lockshot KT85 (+0.52, +0.26) – Laser: VLK 7MW (-0.27, -26.32) – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro (-1.55, -2.25) – Rear Grip: Bruen Q900 Grip (-0.69, -0.29) – Comb: TV TacComb (-0.21, -0.14) – For this loadout, the Lockshot KT85 helps stabilize the weapon’s horizontal recoil, while every other attachment focuses on improving mobility. The YouTuber does not like the weapon’s iron sights, so he recommends using the Cronen Mini Pro. However, optics are subjective, and he suggested replacing his optic with a stock for extra mobility or overpressured ammo for a faster fire rate if you like the base sights. WhosImmortal emphasized: “I love this setup; it’s so fun to use.” Try this loadout the next time you play Resurgence on Ashika Island or Al Mazrah in Season 3.

Warzone 2 guru reveals underrated AR that’s a laser beam at long-range – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals underrated AR that’s a laser beam at long-range ActivisonWarzone 2 expert Metaphor has unveiled an underused AR that has zero recoil and makes it easy to laser beam foes from a distance. When it comes to picking a meta weapon in Warzone 2, the majority of players opt for the gun with the fastest overall TTK. In the current meta, that’s the Sakin MG38, RAAL MG, or the ISO Hemlock and while these are all incredible choices, their recoil can make them difficult to use in certain scenarios. As a result, sometimes it’s better to tailor your loadout for stability, that way you never miss a single bullet and always maximize your damage output. Well, Warzone 2 YouTuber Metaphor has created the ultimate zero recoil setup, and it’s for an underrated AR that’s going under the radar. Best M13B loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Barrel: 14″ Bruen Echelon – Muzzle: Echoless-80 – Underbarrel: FTAC Tiger Grip – Optic: Aim OP-V4 – Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity – If you’re someone who struggles with recoil control at long range, then the M13B is definitely the weapon for you. The trusty AR has minimal kickback which makes it easy to lock onto foes and ensure every single bullet lands on target. Not only that, the accuracy of the M13B means you make the most of headshot multipliers to maximize your TTK, especially if you’re shooting an opponent at mid-range. Metaphor’s build pushes the AR’s bullet velocity to the limit, but it also ensures the gun’s recoil is fully bolstered and its stability is top-tier. The M13B may not have the fastest base TTK stats, but it more than makes up for it when it comes to consistency and stability. With a 1% pick rate in the current meta, it’s safe to say the AR is being slept on by the community and could be the ultimate off-meta weapon to take your skill to the next level.

Warzone 2 guru reveals underrated AR that got a secret buff in Season 4 – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals underrated AR that got a secret buff in Season 4 ActivisionThe Lachmann-556 has pulled away as the early favorite for best Warzone 2 long-range meta weapon in Season 4, but Metaphor believes there is a new contender no one is talking about. Warzone 2’s long-range meta received a major shakeup in Season 4 when the Cronen Squall received a long-awaited nerf. Plenty of other long-range options emerged with the overpowered battle rifle in the rearview mirror. According to WZ Ranked, the Lachmann-556 is the second most popular weapon in the game, with a 15.7% pick rate. No other long-range weapon comes close in comparison—especially the M4, which is only selected 2.3% of the time. Despite not being too popular, Metaphor argued that the M4 is the best AR in Warzone 2 Season 4. Is the M4 a meta weapon in Warzone 2? Metaphor took the M4 for a spin during a Resurgence match on Vondel and shredded with the easy-to-use AR. “This is a gun that hasn’t seen that many changes over the course of the game’s history. However, when other things get moved around, other things get indirectly moved around as well.” The YouTuber believes that the M4 is more than worthy of a chance to be added to anyone’s AR pool. “This gun has gotten indirectly buffed. I don’t know if it has received an actual change in a while, but this gun feels great. The fire rate feels amazing, so I highly recommend trying this gun.” Best M4 loadout in Warzone 2 Season 4 Here is Metaphor’s M4 loadout with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40 (+0.41, +0.20) – Barrel: Hightower 20″ Barrel (+0.44, +0.40) – Optic: Cronen Mini Dot (-3.00, -2.25) – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 (+0.52, +0.26) – Magazine:45 Round MAG – If this loadout isn’t exactly what you are looking for, we have you covered with other meta Warzone 2 loadouts for Season 4.

Warzone 2 guru reveals secret attachment for “amazing” sniper support loadout – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals secret attachment for “amazing” sniper support loadout ActivisionWarzone 2 expert Metaphor crowned a new best sniper support weapon in Season 5, and its all thanks to a secret attachment. Season 5 spiced up Warzone 2’s sniper support meta. The perfect weapon for the job is a hybrid between short and long-range combat. On August 16, Raven Software buffed the Chimera to suit that role perfectly by increasing its mid-range damage. The weapon balancing update also increased the FR Avancer’s close to mid-range damage and maximum damage to add another sniper support option. And then, in the Modern Warfare 3 reveal event, players unlocked the M13C AR as a reward for completing it. Despite all three options looking appealing on paper, Metaphor chose a wildcard for his favorite sniper support weapon in Season 5. What is the best sniper support weapon in Warzone 2? As part of the Season 4 update, Infinity Ward added the KSTV-17 barrel to the Kastov-74u in Warzone 2, improving damage range and bullet velocity and bringing it more in line with other ARs. Previously, the AR didn’t have a barrel that improved those two stats enough to make a difference. Metaphor explained why more players should give the Kastov-74u a try in Season 5. “They released a brand new barrel with it, and it is absolutely insane.” This isn’t the YouTuber’s first time trying the AR out in Warzone 2, so he immediately noticed a difference. “The AK-74u is a gun I have been rocking with since the day the game came out, and I actually think it’s in a really good spot right now as a sniper support weapon.” Metaphor did admit: “The only downside is you are going to lose to SMGs at very close range, but if you are using it as a sniper support, it’s absolutely twisted, so try it out.” Best Kastov-74u loadout Here is Metaphor’s go-to Kastov-74u loadout with attachment tuning included. Barrel: KSTV-17 (+0.19, +0.28) – Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser (-0.27, -34.55) – Stock: Broadside FCT (-2.45, -1.32) – Rear Grip: Demo-X2 Grip (-0.45, -0.28) – Ammunition: 5.45 High Velocity (+0.70, -4.94) – If the Kastov-74u isn’t exactly what you were looking for, make sure to check our best Warzone 2 loadouts guide.

Warzone 2 guru reveals “perfect” sniper support loadout for Season 5 – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals “perfect” sniper support loadout for Season 5 ActivisionSeason 5 introduced a new AR to Warzone 2, and FaZe Booya believes it has all the makings of a “perfect” sniper support weapon. With one-shot snipers out of the way in Warzone 2 Ranked Play, the Signal 50 reigns supreme. World Series of Warzone players harnessed its power to full effect during the NA & EU Stage 2 Finals. Despite massive growth in popularity, Raven Software shocked community members by not nerfing the fast-firing sniper in Season 5. In defense of the decision, the devs claimed it was “not necessary” to nerf the Signal 50. The latest seasonal update also provided a direct competitor to the fan-favorite weapon in the Carrack .300. Pro players have already started using the new sniper rifle in tournaments. In order to make the most out of a sniper loadout, players need a good support weapon. FaZe Booya has highlighted the perfect weapon for the job in Season 5. What is the best sniper support weapon in Warzone 2 Season 5? The Chimera saw a slight buff in Season 5, and players still regularly use the Kastov 74-U as a secondary primary weapon. However, FaZe Booya made a case for players giving the FR Avancer a chance. Booya claimed: “This gun is the perfect sniper support weapon.” The YouTuber continued: “All in all, this is a solid mid-range option. It’s not very good close range or long range, which is kind of perfect for sniper support.” Best Warzone 2 FR Avancer loadout Here is Booya’s favorite FR Avancer loadout with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: Echoline GS-X (+1.40, +1.00) – Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90 (+0.80, -0.39) – Ammunition: 5.56 Hollowpoint (-0.70, -8.71) – Stock: FR Sprinter – Magazine: 45-Round Mag – Booya added that players could replace the Sharkfin underbarrel with the FTAC Ripper 56 for better recoil control, but he prefers the former for better aim walking speed and recoil stabilization. Warzone 2 guru reveals ‘overpowered’ M4 build with zero recoil – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals ‘overpowered’ M4 build with zero recoil ActivisonWarzone 2 veteran Metaphor has showcased an updated M4 build which he claims is “overpowered” thanks to one specific attachment. M4 was looked on fondly at the launch of Warzone 2, with players claiming that it is a great assault rifle with the potential to be the meta. But according to WZ Ranked, this did not stand the test of time, as M4 fell out of favor and is sitting at below a 2.5% pick rate. Despite this, the gun is still a great one, just outclassed by other assault rifles like the Kastov 762 or the TAQ-56. Metaphor, an expert Warzone 2 content creator, claims that this weapon can actually be made into quite a fun and viable weapon in the game’s meta, which has been dominated by the RPK at long-range since it launched. His January 22 video details which specific build he used to turn this assault rifle into a “laser pointer.” Warzone 2 “overpowered” M4 build with no recoil “Overall, I have an absolute blast with this thing,” said Metaphor while showcasing the M4 in his video. He then added: “This gun is crazy good. Like, this gun doesn’t move. You are going to see in the gameplay that this thing is not gonna move, and it is gonna laser people.” The full customization is as follows: Muzzle: Komodo Heavy – Barrel: Hightower 20″ Barrel – Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40 – Magazine: 45 Round Mag – Stock: Corio Precio Factory – Metaphor states that this loadout gives minimal visible recoil while killing enemies at the medium ranges in a very quick manner. Additionally, due to low recoil, it can be used very aggressively and even at closer ranges than most other assault rifles specializing in mid-range. When it comes to your second option in the loadout, you can pick up either a long-range option like the Signal 50 or the SP-X 80 sniper rifle. Or instead, grab the ever-dominant Fennec for close-range encounters.

Warzone 2 guru reveals “no recoil” AR ISO Hemlock replacement – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals “no recoil” AR ISO Hemlock replacement KoreanSavage dishes out high-kill Warzone 2 performances daily, and he discovered the perfect AR to dethrone the ISO Hemlock. Warzone 2 fans rejoiced when Infinity Ward finally nerfed the RPK in the Season 2 update, and then proceeded to put the behemoth to rest in a second balancing patch. Community members thought they were finally in the clear and could use just about any long-range alternative. Season 2 introduced the ISO Hemlock, and the powerful AR spoiled everyone’s plans. According to WZ Ranked, the ISO Hemlock dominates the battle royale’s current meta with an unreal 21% pick rate. Some players fear that the long-range meta has returned right back to where it was, with the RPK at the top – but KoreanSavage may have unearthed a competitor capable of dethroning the ISO Hemlock. KoreanSavage explains why the M4 is “nasty” KoreanSavage wanted to deviate from the norm and discover an AR that competes with the ISO Hemlock. He went back to an old-reliable weapon that dominated WZ1, and surprisingly found it still shreds in the battle royale sequel. “Everybody is using the ISO Hemlock. But trust me, you will want to use this no-recoil, fast-killing M4 build that is just so easy to use.” He claimed that his gameplay would serve as evidence for the weapon’s dominance, and KoreanSavage delivered. The Youtuber raked up 23 kills using the M4 for an Ashika Island match, dominating enemies in mid to long-range engagements. Best M4 Warzone 2 loadout for Season 2 Reloaded Here is KoreanSavage’s M4 loadout with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: XTEN Havoc 90 (+0.62, +0.28) – Barrel: Hightower 20″ Barrel (+0.42, +0.34) – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 (+0.62, +0.28) – Magazine: 45 Round Mag – Optic: Aim OP-V4 (-2.42, +1.51) – The YouTuber emphasized recoil control and damage range over mobility and ADS speed, but he ensured fans that the only important mobility stat is the sprint-to-fire speed. This loadout is designed with the intent of mid to long-range gunfights. Give this loadout a try for yourself if you want to stray a little bit away from Warzone 2’s meta, yet still find success.

Warzone 2 guru reveals “new meta” AR to replace RPK in Season 2 – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals “new meta” AR to replace RPK in Season 2 ActivisionA Warzone 2 expert has brought the “OG AK-47” back to the battle royale ahead of Season 2, suggesting it may be the “new meta” to replace the RPK. When Warzone 2 first launched back in November, the meta was all over the place. It took players a while to settle on the weapons that would lead the way in grabbing victory after victory. If you’ve played the battle royale recently, you’ll know that the RPK is the one that ascended to the top spot in the meta, and has become utterly dominant across Al Mazrah. Though, with Season 2 right around the corner, it will be receiving a pretty hefty nerf. As a result, players have been searching for what will take its place. And, according to YouTuber tcTekk, the Kastov 762 could be the answer. Best Kastov 762 build for Warzone Season 2 The Warzone YouTuber highlighted the assault rifle in his February 14 video, suggesting that it could be the heir to the throne once the RPK gets nerfed. “This gun definitely could be the new meta,” he said. While most players use the Polarfire-S muzzle and KSTV-RPK Factory stock, tcTekk swaps them out for the Lockshot KT85 muzzle and FTAC Ripper 56 underbarrel. The Cronen mini-pro optic, 40-round magazine, and KAS-10 584mm Barrel all retain their spots though. His build is slightly different from other Kastov loadouts we’ve already seen ahead of Season 2, as it has a fair bit of recoil, similar to the AK-47 from the original Warzone. Though, it deletes players within two shots. Muzzle: Lockshot KT85 – Barrel: KAS-10 584mm Barrel – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – Magazine: 40-Round Mag – The Kastov has always been one of the better choices in Warzone 2, so you’ll likely have all the attachments needed to put this build together. As weapon balancing comes into play with Season 2, other guns may rise up the ranks, but you’ll be able to bank on the Kastov.

Warzone 2 guru reveals “monster” sniper support with no recoil – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals “monster” sniper support with no recoil ActivisonWarzone 2 expert Metaphor has unveiled an underrated AR that’s a “monster” sniper support with extremely low recoil. When it comes to meta weapons in the Warzone 2, the TAQ-56, ISO Hemlock, and RPK have stood out as the strongest options. All of these weapons thrive in long-range gunfights, but only a select set of guns are optimal at mid-range and fit the label of a sniper support. This type of setup needs to have plenty of mobility, minimal recoil, and dominate opponents at mid-range. Well, Warzone expert Metaphor seems to have uncovered a “monster” sniper support class that is capable of wiping out enemies in an instant. Best Chimera loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Barrel: 6.5″ EXF Vorpal – Muzzle: Lockshot KT85 – Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40 – Laser: 7MW Canted Laser – Stock: TRX-56 Stock – For Metaphor, the Chimera, otherwise known as the Honey Badger, is a top-tier in Warzone 2 and is quickly becoming his “favorite sniper support in the game”. Describing the gun as a “monster” thanks to its quick TTK, minimal recoil, and solid mobility, it’s perfectly suited for mid-range skirmishes. Instead of overcompensating for damage output, Metaphor’s build instead focuses on maximizing the Chimera’s stability, making it a laser beam and extremely easy to use. One of the most unique aspects of this loadout is the 7MW Canted Laser, which offers insane ADS times but with no optic, this attachment will take some practice to get used to. For the sniper alongside the Chimera, Metaphor recommends the SP-X 80, but feel free to use any rifle you feel comfortable using at long range. The Victus XMR and MCPR-300 are two other brilliant choices if you’re looking to one-shot your opponents on Al Mazrah or Ashika Island. So, if you’re looking for a mid-range powerhouse that’s not very difficult to use, the Chimera is definitely the AR you should be running.

Warzone 2 guru reveals lethal LMG that’s “deadlier” than RPK – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals lethal LMG that’s “deadlier” than RPK Some Warzone 2 players still believe the RPK reigns supreme, but YouTuber IceManIssaac revealed an LMG even “deadlier.” The RPK finally received a nerf as part of the Season 2 update, yet it’s still the second most popular weapon, according to WZRanked. The devastating LMG received a reduction in ADS speed and mid to long-range damage output. TrueGameData dove into the stats and claimed that a few weapons could actually be better than the RPK post-update. Players gravitated toward the Kastov 762 and TAQ-56 as potential replacements, while an underrated LMG continues to fly under the radar. IceManIsaac explained why players should start building Sakin MG38 loadouts and how it surpasses the weakened RPK. IceManIsaac reveals zero recoil and max damage Sakin MG38 loadout “I know the RPK hardly got touched in the Warzone Season 2 nerfs. There is a gun that shoots faster, has better bullet velocity, more damage per mag, faster TTK, and this is what I’m using when I have to turn up.” Using stats collected by JGOD, Isaac compared the Sakin and RPK after the Season 2 update. The Sakin MG38 boats a rapid 736-millisecond TTK speed compared to the RPK’s 800. As for damage per mag, the Sakin dishes out 3000, while the RPK does 2295. IceManIsaac showed off the Sakin MG38’s power in his latest YouTube video. IceManIsaac showed off the LMG’s recoil in the firing range, and it barely moved while unloading an entire magazine into one spot. “This is one of the easiest guns I have ever used.” The YouTuber admitted that the Sakin has a slower recoil speed but claimed it doesn’t have too many faults besides that. Sakin MG38 Warzone 2 Season 2 loadout Here is IceManIsaacs Sakin MG38 loadout with weapon tuning included. Barrel: 20″ Bruen Silver Series Barrel (+0.35 weight, -0.04 length) – Underbarrel: Cronen WL55 (+0.80 weight, +0.19 length) – Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser (+0.23 weight, -9.87 zeroing distance) – Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity (-0.47 weight, -2.61 load) – Optic: Aim OP-V4 (-0.29 weight, -1.65 eye position) – Try this loadout if you want an RPK replacement in Season 2.

Warzone 2 guru reveals Kastov 762 loadout to dominate Ashika Island – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals Kastov 762 loadout to dominate Ashika Island YouTube: IceManIsaacWarzone 2’s first Resurgence map is coming soon, and IceManIsaac revealed the best AR for short-range combat. Activision revealed Ashika Island as a Resurgence map for Warzone 2, releasing on February 15. The small-scale environment is located on an undisclosed archipelago somewhere in the Asian Pacific. Call of Duty YouTuber JGOD compared Resurgence map sizes and concluded Ashika Island is larger than Rebirth Island but slightly smaller than Fortune’s Keep. It’s important to take map size into account when building the right loadout. The RPK has dominated Warzone 2’s meta on Al Mazrah, in part because the map favors long-range engagements. Al Mazrah’s dessert landscape perfectly suits large magazine LMGs that shred squads at long distances, but Resurgence requires an entirely different playstyle. IceManIsaac explains why you should use the Kastov 762 on Ashika Island IceManIsaac broke down why the Kastov 762 suits Ashika Island’s environment more than the RPK. “It is better than the RPK in so many ways, and I especially believe for the new Rebirth Resurgence where we need something faster and a little more mobile than the RPK. This will become the dominant meta.” IceManIssac used data from sym.gg and discovered that the Kastov 762’s ADS movement speed is 1.9 ms compared to the RPK’s 2.6. He also learned both weapons have an extremely similar time-to-kill speed. Diving deeper into the stats, the YouTuber shared more impressive Kastov 762 differences from the RPK. The AR’s reload speed is 2.69 seconds compared to 4.97 seconds, and the ADS time is 368ms compared to 473ms. The RPK does have an advantage of a 75-round magazine, but IceManIsaac argued 40 is more than enough for the type of gunfights players will engage in on Ashika Island. “When we think about the small map island, yes, we may have some long-range engagements, but mostly it’s going to be really fast clearing out hallways and buildings. Kastov 762 loadout Here is IceManIsaac’s build with attachment tuning included. Barrel: KAS-10 584mm Barrel (+0.40 Weight, -0.26 Length) – Laser: FSS Ole-V Laser – Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity (-0.32 Weight, -5.32 Load) – Magazine: 40-Round Mag – Optic: Aim OP-V4 (-2.32 Weight, -1.65 Eye Position) – The YouTuber recommends using the Ole-V laser instead of a Lockgrip Precision-40 grip because this build is all about increasing mobility. Make sure to level up the Kastov 762 in time for Ashika Island’s February 15 release date.

Warzone 2 guru reveals “insane” SMG that dethrones Lachmann Sub on Ashika Island – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals “insane” SMG that dethrones Lachmann Sub on Ashika Island ActivisionDespite receiving a nerf in the Season 3 Reloaded update, FaZe Booya believes that the Vaznev-9K outclasses the Lachmann Sub in Warzone 2 on Ashika Island. Infinity Ward terrified the competitive CoD community by nerfing the Vaznev-9K’s mid to long-range damage as part of the Season 2 update. TheXclusiveAce reassured fans by revealing the nerf was “meaningless.” Then, in Season 3 Reloaded, Infinity Ward returned to the well and nerfed the Vaznev again. TheXclusiveAce went back into the testing lab and concluded that its maximum damage range fell from 10.2 meters to 8.7 meters. Neither nerf did enough to tame the dominant SMG, and FaZe Booya explained why it’s better than the Lachmann Sub. What is the best SMG in Warzone 2? The Vaznev and Lachmann Sub are neck and neck in popularity rankings. According to WZ Ranked, the Vaznev has a pick rate of 10.4%, and the Lachmann Sub is right behind at 10%. FaZe Booya acknowledged that it is a close range but argued that the Vaznev takes a slight edge on Ashika Island. “This thing used to be absolutely meta before the MP5, but this thing still shreds lobbies.” As for what makes the popular SMG stand out, the YouTuber gave his reasoning. “This is an absolute beast of an SMG. Its strafe speed is insane, and its time-to-kill speed is amazing. This is one of the smoothest feeling SMGs, definitely.” Best Warzone 2 Vaznev-9K loadout Here is FaZe Booya’s Vaznev loadout with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: Bruen Pendulum (+0.80, +0.35) – Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90 (-0.80, -0.40) – Stock: Otrezat Stock (+4.00, -2.40) – Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip: (+1.00, -0.45) – Magazine: 45 Round Mag – At the end of the day, it ultimately comes down to personal preference. Both SMGs are capable of carrying you to a victory in Warzone 2. But if you want an SMG that feels smooth and fires fast, the Vaznev-9K might be just what the doctor ordered.

Warzone 2 guru reveals how to get unlimited loadout drops and UAVs in Ranked Play – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals how to get unlimited loadout drops and UAVs in Ranked Play YouTube: JoeWoJoeWo explained why completing Strongholds and Blacksites in Warzone 2 Ranked Play matches is a game-changer. Warzone 2 introduced several new ways to earn loadout weapons. Players can buy custom weapons from buy stations and also earn them by killing AI enemies. Strongholds are areas on Al Mazrah that feature AI enemies. By clearing out the building and diffusing a bomb, they provide an easy alternative for players to earn their loadouts. Black Sites are even more dangerous the normal Strongholds, throwing tougher enemies at the player with the promise of much better loot. If they can be the first to conquer a normal Stronghold and nab a key to the Black Site. It’s a race against time for those vying to access some of the best loot. Despite being a little boring, JoeWo argued that killing AI enemies could make winning Ranked Play matches easier. Why Strongholds and Black Sites are underrated in Warzone 2 JoeWo claimed that not enough Ranked Play teams take advantage of Strongholds and Black Sites. The YouTuber explained that Strongholds give out a free loadout, tempered vests, armor boxes, ammo, and money. Tempered vests provide 33% more plates per plate you put on, which is crucial in Ranked Play matches with how fast the game’s time-to-kill speed is. JoeWo recommends that all three squad members shoot at the same time to take out the Black Site’s juggernaut. The boss drops self-revies, killstreaks, and gas masks. Completing the Black Site also awards an advanced UAV, which reveals the exact location of enemies. If your teammates need a place to get their loadouts after dying, they will be able to go back to the Blacksite and their loadout and UAV. “For every match, at three minutes and 29 seconds when the first zone closes, that’s when the Stronghold opens. You have to make sure to get to those very quickly, as a lot of teams will be fighting for those.” JoeWo also gave the tip that squads can earn a loadout from an already completed Stronghold by killing five AI enemies. Try this strategy the next time you want to win a Warzone 2 Ranked Play match.

Warzone 2 guru reveals “fastest killing” MP5 loadout – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals “fastest killing” MP5 loadout ActivisonWarzone 2 community members can’t reach a consensus on the game’s best SMG, but TheKoreanSavage put all debates to rest. We expect Warzone 2’s close-range meta to change when Season 3 begins on April 12. The ISO Hemlock reigns supreme in mid to long-range engagements for Season 2, but the jury is still out for any gunfight closer. According to Warzone Ranked, the Lachmann Sub has an 11% pick rate, while the Vaznev-9K boasts an 8.9%. Some players prefer the Vaznev 9-K because the SMG offers top-tier versatility and an easy-to-control recoil pattern. Others lean in favor of the old-reliable Lachmann Sub, which shreds through opponents with a blistering fast TTK speed. The KoreanSavage explained why the Lachmann Sub is the best SMG in Season 2 Reloaded. Why the Lachmann Sub “replaces all” other SMGs in Warzone 2 TheKoreanSavage claimed he discovered: “by far 100% the best, number one fastest killing and easiest to use Lachmann Sub loadout in Warzone.” “This is the most dominant Lachmann Sub loadout you can find.” While using his favorite Lachmann sub loadout, TheKoreanSavage tallied a whopping 26 kills in his first Ashika Island match and followed that up with a 23-elimination performance. What sets TheKoreanSavage’s loadout apart from others is the use of a 7MW Canted Laser. A canted laser sight changes how you aim a weapon tilting the gun to its side while aiming down sight. The odd mechanic takes some getting used to, but TheKoreanSavage believes the learning curve is worth it. “Some people just can’t get used to it, but if you can get used to that, it’s a game-changer, TheKoreanSavage claimed. “Trust me, if you get used to this attachment, you will find a lot of success.” Best Warzone 2 Lachmann Sub loadout Here is TheKoreanSavage’s Lachmann Sub loadout with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: Singuard MKV (+0.99, +0.77) – Barrel: FTAC M-Sub 12″ (+0.36, +0.30) – Laser: 7MW Canted Laser (-0.35, -32.90) – Magazine: Lachmann TCG-10 (+0.87, -0.32) – Rear Grip: 50-Round Drum – At the end of the day, it all comes down to personal preference, for which SMG you like using more. But it is more than worth at least trying the Lachmann Sub before the Season 3 weapon balancing update.

Warzone 2 guru reveals better sniper support loadout than the Lachmann Sub – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals better sniper support loadout than the Lachmann Sub ActivisonMost Warzone 2 players prefer to pair a sniper rifle with a Lachmann Sub, but Metaphor explained why the Kastov 74-u deserves more consideration. Ever since Infinity Ward made it possible to one-shot kill enemies with sniper rifles again in Warzone 2, the class has returned to its dominance previously seen in WZ1. Community members have leaned toward the MCPR-300 as the best one-shot rifle and Lachmann Sub as the best sniper support weapon. According to WZ Ranked, the Lachmann Sub is the third most popular weapon in Warzone 2, with a 13.6% pick rate. The fast-firing SMG shreds through enemies up close, and its easy-to-control recoil pattern still makes it viable in slightly longer engagements. However, Metaphor argued that players should use the Kastov 74-u instead, as it offers a more balanced damage output. What is the best sniper support weapon in Warzone 2? Metaphor tested the Kastov 74-u and Chimera, concluding that the 74-u is the best sniper support weapon in Warzone 2. “I feel like running the MP5 with is cursed sometimes. Because I really feel like since everyone is running an MP5, if I am playing close to mid-range with my 74-u or Chimera will have the upper hand.” The YouTuber elaborated: “I think this gun is actually really good.” The main reason he prefers the 74-u is that it outclasses the Lachmann Sub in mid-range engagements. “It has a lot more range than the MP5, and I don’t know about you guys, but the MP5 can be really lackluster when you are not at point-blank range.” Best Kastov 74-u loadout Here is Metaphor’s Kastov 74-u loadout with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40 (-0.59, +0.27) – Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser (-0.50, -51.00) – Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip – Ammunition: 5.45 High Velocity (+0.34, +8.42) – Magazine: 45 Round Mag – Metaphor admitted that the Lachmann Sub will still outperform the 74-u in close-range battles, but the added versatility makes the AR worth trying as a new Warzone 2 sniper support option.

Warzone 2 guru reveals “best TTK” meta M4 loadout – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals “best TTK” meta M4 loadout ActivisonWarzone 2 guru WhosImmortal has unveiled a meta loadout for the M4 which he claims has the “best TTK” in Season 2. The February 24 update is the latest one that shook up Warzone 2’s meta and its consequences continue to dictate which weapons are popular among the players. With the in-depth attachment system and variety of guns found in Modern Warfare II and by extension Warzone 2 it’s easy to get lost in what’s strong and what can sabotage your chances of a victory. You could spend hours testing various setups, but luckily there are many veterans of the game out there with great resources that will help you make the choice. A good example of such resources is the videos by content creator WhosImmortal, one of his latest creations is a “best TTK” M4 build that will maximize your chances of scoring a victory. Best M4 loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Muzzle: Echoless-80 – Underbarrel: Edge-47 Grip – Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity – Magazine: 45 Round Mag – Optic: Aim OP-V4 – WhosImmortal explained that he thinks M4 is probably the most versatile and consistent AR in the game, furthermore he states that it’s extremely easy to control the weapon’s recoil which makes it a great option for newer players who want to start learning the guns. “The M4 is the real deal. This thing is very, very reliable, very consistent. I was surprised when I first jumped into it how natural it felt. Didn’t take much to control the recoil even over some longer ranges,” said the content creator about the M4. The rifle has a rapid TTK at medium and close ranges, very generous recoil, and respectable long-range capabilities making it very versatile for any situation. The build above focuses on furthering its range while also increasing accuracy to make you hit more of your shots more easily. TIMESTAMP – 10:45 That said, you’ll still want either an SMG like the meta-dominating Lachmann Sub or a KV Broadside shotgun to cover close range where M4 can be beaten.

Warzone 2 guru reveals best sniper support AR with insane TTK – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals best sniper support AR with insane TTK ActivisionLooking to pair your one-shot sniper with a deadly secondary weapon? Well, there’s an underrated assault rifle that will do the job perfectly with its insane TTK. Over the last few months, snipers have had a bit of an interesting existence in the world of Warzone 2. Sure, they’re needed for long-range engagements, but they’ve not really been doing the damage that players would like. As a result of constant complaints, one-shot snipers have made a return to the battle royale in Season 3 – though, there is a bit of a catch when it comes to setting one up in your loadout. You do need explosive ammunition attached. Despite that catch, snipers have rocketed back up to the top of the meta, becoming all-important once again. So, naturally, you’ll need a secondary weapon that can do the business at short to medium range as a backup. Best Chimera loadout for Warzone 2 Season 3 That’s where Metaphor’s Chimera loadout comes into play, as the Warzone 2 stat guru believes it has the distinction of being the best sniper support weapon in the game. “The Chimera is the kind of gun where there are some kills you can only get with the Chimera,” the YouTuber said. “This gun might have one of the fastest TTKs in the game, it gives me AS Val vibes from Modern Warfare 2019.” His loadout is a pretty simple one too, as it uses the VLK LZR 7MW laser for stability, Ravage-10 stock to bring the recoil down, and the Bruen Flash Grip to boost the ADS speed. Laser: VLK LZR 7MW – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – Magazine: 45-round mag – Rear Grip: Bruen Flash Grip – Stock: Ravage-10 – As per WZRanked stats, the Chimera is just outside the top 10 when it comes to usage, sitting in 15th place right now. Given the build outlined above has a TTK of around 247 m/s, that puts it right up there with some of the best SMGs in the game, never mind ARs. So, expect to see players running it a bit more before long.

Warzone 2 guru reveals best aggressive AR after recent buff – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals best aggressive AR after recent buff ActivisionAfter a recent buff, WhosImmortal made his case for why more players should consider using the Tempus Razorback in Warzone 2. Modern Warfare 2 Season 4 introduced the Tempus Razorback. The AR is an SMG hybrid that excels in close-to-medium-range gunfights. Unfortunately, the weapon found itself in no man’s land as it wasn’t good enough to surpass SMGs or long-range ARs. That all changed on July 24 as a balancing update nerfed the battle royale’s best short-range and long-range meta weapons. The only weapon to receive a buff in the update was the Tempus Razorback, as it saw an increase to minimum damage and limb multipliers. With the game’s meta currently in limbo, early indications point toward the Tempus Razorback being a strong contender for one of the game’s best weapons. What is the best close-range AR in Warzone 2? WhosImmortal claimed the Tempus Razorback is his favorite “aggressive” AR for short and medium-range engagements in Warzone 2 after the July 24 update. The YouTuber called the Razorback a “best of both worlds” between the Chimera and Kastov 74-u. According to WZ Ranked, the Tempus Razorback climbed all the way up to becoming the game’s seventh most popular weapon with a 4.1% pick rate. Best Tempus Razorback Warzone loadout Here is WhosImmortal’s favorite Razorback loadout in Warzone 2 with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: Komodo Heavy(-0.36, +0.20) – Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser (-0.23, -24.64) – Stock: TR PREAMBLE (-1.68, -1.08) – Comb: LTX ECLIPSE (-0.17, -0.10) – Magazine: 60-Round Mag – WhosImmortal recommends a 60-round mag because the Razorback’s fire rate is extremely fast. The Preamble stock improves strafe and sprint speed to help in close-range engagements. The Komodo Heavy improves the weapon’s recoil, and every other attachment improves weapon mobility. For more meta loadouts after the most recent update, check out our guide on the best Warzone 2 weapons.

Warzone 2 guru reveals “beast” AR that’s being slept on in Season 2 Reloaded – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals “beast” AR that’s being slept on in Season 2 Reloaded ActivisonWarzone 2 expert WhosImmortal has unveiled a “beast” AR that’s going under the radar after the Season 2 Reloaded patch. When it comes to close to mid-range gunfights, the majority of players opt for meta SMGs thanks to their impressive mobility and solid TTKs. Picks like the Lachmann Sub and Vaznev-9k are extremely popular and perfect for those who enjoy making aggressive pushes on their opponents. Despite this, there are a select few AR options that don’t thrive at long-range, and instead are best when kitted out for close-quarters skirmishes. Well, WhosImmortal has identified one of these unique ARs and believes the “beast” weapon could be a meta contender in Season 2 Reloaded. Best Chimera loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Barrel: 6.5″ EXF Vorpal – Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40 – Underbarrel: Schlager Tango – Magazine: 45-Round Mag – Rear Grip: Bruen Flash Grip – Unlike the ISO Hemlock and the TAQ-56, the Chimera does not laser beam foes at long range but instead, shares a lot of characteristics with other SMGs. Equipped with a lethal close-quarter TTK and plenty of mobility, it’s a “beast” weapon that can contend with the likes of the Lachmann Sub. This gun is certainly not for anyone who likes to post up in power positions and hold one spot, it’s designed for “flying and frying” around the map. The build above aims to completely bolster the AR’s recoil, while also pushing its damage to the limits so you wipe out foes with ease. Topic starts at 0:31 With just a 1.7% pick rate, it’s safe to say the Chimera is going under the radar despite being a top-tier choice in Season 2 Reloaded. It’s hard to know how long it’ll be before the community catches on, so make sure to add this gun to your loadout list before it takes over.

Warzone 2 guru reveals an “overpowered” Cronen Squall loadout using thermal optic – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals an “overpowered” Cronen Squall loadout using thermal optic ActivisionMetaphor has revealed a loadout for Cronen Squall that the YouTuber said is “100% the best gun” in Warzone 2 at this moment. Warzone 2’s Season 3 Reloaded brought balance changes that shook up the game’s meta and allowed some new armaments and old reliables to shine once more. The update rolled out not even 2 weeks ago, so content creators and skilled players alike are still re-evaluating their favorite loadouts and trying to find new gems. Metaphor showcased a great build for the Cronen Squall in his May 20 video that in Metaphor’s own words: “This Cronen Squall build that I found out is just so insane, this is 100% the best gun in the game right now.” Metaphor’s Cronen Squall loadout in Warzone 2 Metaphor explained that his Cronen Squall loadout makes the weapon very powerful for medium and even long ranges with fast TTK, great accuracy, and large magazine size. To help him achieve that the content creator outfitted the gun with attachments specializing in furthering the Cronen Squall’s range, accuracy, and recoil. The Cronen Squall still has significant recoil even with attachments that try to mitigate it, so it is recommended for players to switch to the single-fire mode when shooting at far-away targets and only use the full-auto mode for medium and close-range encounters. Attachments Muzzle: ZLR Talon 5 – Barrel: HR6.8 Barrel – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 – Magazine: 50 Round Mag – Optic: SZ Holotherm – This battle rifle is perfect for most common situations at medium ranges thanks to its rapid TTK and its large magazine count thanks to these attachments. This comes at a cost of some mobility and rather slow sprint-to-fire speed. With that in mind, you’ll want either an SMG like the meta-dominating Vaznev-9K or a shotgun to cover close range where this particular loadout struggles to keep up with some of the more popular options.

Warzone 2 guru reveals an “overpowered” akimbo loadout for the GS Magna – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals an “overpowered” akimbo loadout for the GS Magna ActivisionMetaphor has unveiled a loadout for GS Magna that makes the handgun greatly effective at close range in Season 3 of Warzone 2. Warzone 2’s Season 3 Reloaded brought a huge variety of balance changes that shook up the game’s meta. The mid-season update also brought two brand new guns to the player’s arsenal, the FTAC Siege and GS Magna which are both handguns. Metaphor showcased a great build for the brand new GS Magna in his May 13 video that makes the handgun “overpowered,” and in Immortal’s own words: “These things actually took me by surprise. These things are actually pretty damn good, obviously at close range.” Metaphor’s GS Magna loadout in Warzone 2 Metaphor explained that he thinks his GS Magna loadout makes the weapon very powerful up close and personal with fast terrifying TTK and great hip-fire accuracy for shooting on the move. To help him achieve that the content creator outfitted the gun with attachments specializing in furthering the handgun’s range, damage, and accuracy, as its handling and mobility are already top-notch. The build is, of course, using an akimbo attachment to effectively double your magazine size and rate of fire while sacrificing precision aiming and a good chunk of accuracy. Thankfully, we won’t be needing all of that, since this is a loadout exclusively for close-range encounters. Attachments Muzzle: EXF Fifty GS – Barrel: SA Longshot-50 – Ammunition: .50 Hollow Point – Magazine: 13-Round Mag – Rear Grip: GS Magna Akimbo – The akimbo handguns have an extremely rapid TTK at short ranges, perfect for aggressive pushes and in-door firefights for the majority of situations in Al-Mazrah and Ashika Island. That said, you’ll still want either an AR like the meta-dominating ISO Hemlock or a sniper rifle to cover medium and long ranges where this particular loadout struggles to keep up with most of the other options.

Warzone 2 guru reveals an “insane” loadout for a buffed Assault Rifle – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals an “insane” loadout for a buffed Assault Rifle ActivisonWhosImmortal has showcased a loadout for STB 556 that makes the AR greatly effective at close and medium ranges in the Season 3 of Warzone 2. Warzone 2’s Season 3 is here and it brought a variety of balance changes that shook up the meta to its very core. Players and content creators are searching for underrated gems and surprises among the less popular weapons now that the meta is slowly but surely solidifying in place. The STB 556 is a rifle that is being experimented with intensely due to receiving one of the biggest buffs of all the weapons. WhosImmortal showcased a great build for the STB 556 in his April 29 video that is a “laser beam, a very fast rifle, and its TTK is one of the best for the close to mid range niche.” WhosImmortal’s STB 556 loadout in Warzone 2 WhosImmortal explained that he thinks his STB 556 loadout makes the weapon very easy to control with negligible recoil, fast ADS time and great mobility to boot. To help him achieve that the content creator outfitted the gun with attachments specializing in handling and mobility, to aid the weapons aggression and go toe to toe with the best Warzone 2 SMGs while still being able to outtrade opponents firing at you from medium distances. Attachments Barrel: 16.5″ Bruen S901 Barrel – Laser: VLK LZR 7MW – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – Comb: FTAC C11 Riser – Rear Grip: Bruen Q900 Grip – The assault rifle has an extremely rapid TTK at close and medium ranges, perfect for slotting it into your build as either sniper support or simply a close-range weapon. It’s worth noting that the content creator himself considers the Cronen Mini Pro optic important because the default iron sights of STB are hard to use and obscure a lot of your screen when aiming down sights. That said, you’ll still want either an AR like the meta-dominating ISO Hemlock or a sniper rifle to cover medium and long ranges where this particular loadout struggles.

Warzone 2 guru reveals “amazing” one shot Cronen Squall loadout – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals “amazing” one shot Cronen Squall loadout ActivisionWarzone 2 expert NYSL Aydan explained why more players should be using the Cronen Squall in Season 3 Reloaded. Season 3 Reloaded slightly shrouded Warzone 2’s long-range meta in doubt. The ISO Hemlock saw substantial nerfs, but some players still crowned it as the game’s best weapon. Meanwhile, the Lachmann 556 received a few hefty buffs, which vaulted the AR into contention. Aydan made a case for the Cronen Squall, giving the ISO Hemlock a run for its money in Season 3 Reloaded. What weapon has the fastest TTK in Warzone 2? Aydan claimed that the Cronen Squall battle rifle has the fastest TTK for a primary weapon in Warzone 2. The YouTuber admitted that he didn’t like the weapon at first. “It didn’t feel like a contender to the ISO Hemlock,” he said. “It just had too much recoil,” he added, arguing it was only viable in medium-range engagements instead of long-range fights. However, he changed the fire mode to single fire and discovered that it greatly decreased the battle rifle’s recoil while still maintaining good damage. “On this gun, it feels amazing. It feels like the old DMR, besides being unable to shoot as fast. I think if this thing could shoot just a little bit faster, it would blow the Hemlock out of the water.” If you still have struggles controlling the Cronen Squall’s recoil, Aydan recommends only using it on Ashika Island, which favors closer gunfights. Best Cronen Squall Warzone 2 loadout Here is Aydan’s Cronen Squal loadout with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: BORE-490 – Barrel: HR 6.8 Barrel (+0.50, +0.40) – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 – Magazine: 30 Round Mag – Optic: Schlager 3.4X (-3.00, -1.50) – It’s important to note that every time you drop and pick up this weapon, it automatically reverts to automatic fire. To change the fire mode back to single fire mode, press left on the Dpad for PlayStation and Xbox. Give this loadout a try if you are looking to try something new in Warzone 2.

Warzone 2 guru reveals “absurd” sniper build that could takeover meta – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals “absurd” sniper build that could takeover meta ActivisonWarzone 2 expert IceManIsaac has revealed an “absurd” sniper build that he thinks is so strong, it has the potential to “ruin the meta”. Compared to Raven Software’s original battle royale, snipers are far less powerful in Warzone 2 as they cannot one-hit foes with a single headshot. This has meant the majority of players are opting to run guns like the RPK, M4, and TAQ-56 at long-range, as they make beaming foes down from a distance extremely simple. Although a few sniper builds have seen some popularity, most of them have quickly been thrown away in favor of LMGs and ARs. Well, IceManIsaac believes he’s going to change that with an “absurd” sniper build that focuses on ADS time, bullet velocity, and fire rate. All these combine together to create a loadout that he thinks can take over the WZ2 meta. Best Signal 50 Warzone 2 loadout Attachments Muzzle: Nilsound 90 Silencer – Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser – Ammunition: .50 Cal High Velocity – Optic: Forge Tac Delta 4 – Rear Grip: SA Finesse Grip – As a kill with a sniper in Warzone 2 requires two shots, IceManIsaac decided to cater his build for speed and bullet velocity, using stats to come up with the strongest combination of attachments for the Signal 50. The loadout above focuses on giving the sniper a “crazy high” bullet velocity and ADS time. In partnership with the Signal’s semi-auto fire rate, this allows the weapon to instantly wipe out foes before they can retaliate. One of the most important attachments is the Forge Tac Delta 4, as the optic shaves off an impressive 70 milliseconds off the ADS speed. This makes the rifle snappy and allows you to get off the first bullet on your opponent in skirmishes. In terms of bullet velocity, IceManIsaac skips out on a barrel as they have too many drawbacks. Instead, he opts for the .50 Cal High-Velocity ammunition, which doesn’t affect the gun’s speed or ADS time. All this comes together to create an “absurd” sniper class that he thinks is arguably “too strong” in the current WZ2 meta. Of course, if you’re going to run this on Al Mazrah, make sure to use Weapon Specialist so you have access to Overkill for a second primary. So, if you’re craving a top-tier sniper that will bring you back to the old days of Verdansk and Caldera, this Signal 50 build could be the one.

Warzone 2 guru reveals “absolutely insane” underrated LMG loadout – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals “absolutely insane” underrated LMG loadout ActivisionBefore players crown the TAQ V as Warzone 2’s best long-range meta weapon in Season 5, Metaphor made a case for the RAPP-H. Season 5 finally nerfed the Cronen Squall after it dominated Warzone 2’s long-range meta, but it wasn’t enough to put the giant down for good. According to weapon popularity rankings, the fan-favorite battle rifle is still the fourth most popular weapon in the game. However, the nerf did do enough for the TAQ V to dethrone the Cronen Squall as the most popular weapon in the battle royale sequel. A devastating damage profile and easy-to-control recoil pattern make it understandable why players would lean toward using this battle rifle. Metaphor embarked on a mission to find an even better long-range option, and he shed some light on a long-range meta weapon that doesn’t even rank within the top 30 of popularity rankings. What is the best long-range meta weapon in Warzone 2? Metaphor saw other Warzone 2 players using the RAPP-H, so he decided to see what all the hype was about. To his surprise, the Rapp-H exceeded expectations and made a strong case for being a “top meta” weapon in Season 5. “It is absolutely insane. This thing has a crazy fire rate, so it’s not one of those guns that’s really hard to use. It has pretty much no recoil and does a ton of damage.” Metaphor showed off his loadout in the firing range and had barely any recoil at all. “This might be one of the easiest guns to use right now, and it is also one of the best in general.” Best RAPP H Warzone 2 loadout Muzzle: ZLR Talon 5 (+0.59, +0.32) – Barrel: Romeo FT 16″ Barrel (+0.32, +0.25) – Optic: AIM OP-V4 (-3.00, +1.80) – Underbarrel: B052 Grip (+0.44, +0.22) – Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity (+0.23, +4.35) – Metaphor’s loadout focuses on improving damage range, bullet velocity, and recoil control. As an LMG, it has slower mobility than battle rifles and ARs, but the RAPP-H moves quicker than other class options. However, if the RAPP-H isn’t quite your cup of tea, check out our list of the best Warzone 2 loadouts in Season 5.

Warzone 2 guru reveals “2 shot” TAQ-M build that’s comfortably Al Mazrah’s best DMR – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru reveals “2 shot” TAQ-M build that’s comfortably Al Mazrah’s best DMR ActivisionWarzone 2 expert and content creator Metaphor has unveiled his “2 shot” TAQ-M build, which he claims is “insane” and the best DMR in Al Mazrah right now. Warzone 2’s meta received a shakeup ahead of Season Two thanks to data miners who extracted the exact values of every attachment in the game. While guns such as the RPK and Lachmann Sub remain among the most popular in Warzone 2, the most used attachments are changing as players are experimenting. Now more than ever, gamers and content creators are eager to discover new builds to bring out the best of meta and non-meta weapons alike. Warzone 2 veteran Metaphor has unveiled his new go-to TAQ-M loadout, which he claims to be the best DMR currently available in the game. “2 tap” TAQ-M loadout for Warzone 2 In his February 4 YouTube video, the content creator described his TAQ-M build in detail, noting that it’s completely possible to take out opponents with 2 quick shots with this loadout. “I’m rocking the TAQ-M. I get 2 taps with this thing,” said Metaphor when describing the rifle in his video.”Like I said before, I had a lot of fun rocking this thing.” He even claimed it is the “best DMR” option for Al Mazrah, and described it as “insane.” Specifically, his TAQ-M build focuses on improving the guns already impressive accuracy and maximum range to make you deadly at medium and longer ranges. This comes at the cost of some overall mobility, sprint-to-fire speed, and ADS time, which is typical for a weapon intended for longer range. But instead, it provides you with a great time to kill if your shots land on the upper torso area, the single fire nature of this rifle makes recoil almost a non-factor/ His full TAQ-M build is detailed below: Barrel: LR1:7 20.5″ Barrel – Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40 – Ammunition: 6.5MM High Velocity – Stock: Tacverte Brute Stock – Sight: Schlager 3.4X – Remember to bring along a strong SMG, like the Fennec or Vaznev 9K, to have their close range also covered.

Warzone 2 guru recommends thermal optic that’s “super easy” to use – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru recommends thermal optic that’s “super easy” to use JGODWarzone 2 guru and content creator JGOD has recommended players start using the Teplo Clear Shot thermal optic if they want to dominate Ranked Play. Ranked Play was introduced to Warzone 2 with the arrival of Season 3 Reloaded. It adds a more competitive game mode where players are given the chance to truly test their skills. While meta loadouts have always been important in Warzone 2, they’ve become especially significant with Ranked Play where having the wrong gun, Perks, or attachments could be the difference between gaining SR or losing it. This has pushed the CoD community to try out new things to make sure their loadouts are optimal, and now JGOD believes he has figured out the best optic that you should be using in Warzone 2. JGOD recommends Teplo Clear Shot thermal optic for Warzone 2 In a new video posted on May 21, JGOD analyzed a variety of thermal optics to determine which is the best to use in Warzone 2. Having tested a range of optics JGOD concluded that the Teplo Clear Shot was the best thermal optic in Warzone 2. Speaking on the optic’s strengths, JGOD said: “I think this one is so good because it doubles as a reflex sight. So we get the reflex sight which makes shooting super easy because it gives the widest FOV possible.” Elaborating further JGOD continued: “Then when you want to shoot people hiding in smoke you switch to thermal and get extra zoom. You’ll have to adjust your aim slightly for the recoil and then you’ll be able to control it.” Topic starts at 3:48 In the same video, JGOD offers an alternative for players who don’t want to use a hybrid sight. The Warzone 2 expert states that the SZ Holotherm is also strong as you can toggle its thermal imagery on and off, unlike any other optic. Thermal optics have become increasingly common in Warzone 2 with the arrival of Ranked Play where teams frequently use Smoke Grenades to rotate safely. Being able to see enemies in smoke with a thermal is a powerful tool for punishing otherwise concealed players.

Warzone 2 guru predicts best long-range meta loadout for Season 5 – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru predicts best long-range meta loadout for Season 5 ActivisionBefore Warzone 2 Season 5 begins, FaZe Booya highlighted an AR that has the potential to become the season’s best long-range meta weapon. As things currently stand, the Cronen Squall and Kastov 762 dominate Warzone 2’s long range meta. However, that will most likely change on August 2, following Season 5’s weapon buffs and nerfs update. The Cronen Squall already got nerfed in Season 4, and Infinity Ward doubled down on July 24 by decreasing the weapon’s damage output. Despite already being nerfed twice, that hasn’t stopped the devs from going back in for more before. If the Cronen Squall does see another nerf alongside other long-range meta weapons, FaZe Booya pointed to the ISO Hemlock as a weapon worthy of taking its place. What will be the best long-range weapon in Warzone 2 Season 5 The ISO Hemlock dominated Warzone 2’s meta for most of Season 2 and the first half of Season 3. Back-to-back nerfs in Season 3 knocked the easy-to-use AR off its pedestal. Ahead of Season 5, FaZe Booya explained why the ISO Hemlock is back and better than ever. “The Hemlock has made a return. I know it has been nerfed in the past, but a lot of the other guns like the Cronen and ARs are getting nerfed as well.” It’s not that the ISO Hemlock has received any buff recently. But nerfs to other weapons have made the AR’s brightest qualities shine again. Booya claimed: “It has great damage, low recoil, and it absolutely shreds.” Best ISO Hemlock Warzone loadout Here is Booya’s go-to Warzone 2 ISO Hemlock loadout with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: Harbinger D20 (+1.40, +1.00) – Barrel: Fielder-T50 (+0.50, +0.40) – Optic: SZ Recharge-DX (-3.00, +0.90) – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 (+0.80, +0.00) – Magazine: 45 Round Mag – Booya explained why the Hemlock has everything a player needs in a good AR. “The Hemlock has a pretty good damage range, and low recoil, which makes for a great AR.” If the ISO Hemlock doesn’t stand out in Season 5 as predicted, check out our list of best Warzone 2 loadouts.

Warzone 2 guru pinpoints simple attachment change to make the Fennec even better – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru pinpoints simple attachment change to make the Fennec even better ActivisonThe Fennec 45 is an immensely strong SMG that dominates the meta of Warzone 2, but according to FaZe Booya, it can perform even better than players give it credit for with one simple change. Weapons like the RPK and TAQ-56 continue to fight for supremacy as the go-to long-range option in Warzone 2. Meanwhile, the Fennec 45 remains the premiere option for close quarters ever since the BR sequel went live. The speed at which Fennec can down opponents in buildings or around corners is incredible. Almost as incredible as the mobility you are offered when wielding it. FaZe Booya shared the recent changes he has made to his personal Fennec build, swapping out the underbarrel attachment he used previously in favor of the Lockshot KT85 muzzle. “I like it a lot better than the one I was running,” Booya said about the build. “Amazing” Fennec loadout for Warzone 2 In his December 31 YouTube video, the content creator revealed all the attachments that are part of this extremely efficient loadout for the Fennec. “It just has so much strafe speed, and it’s got very good ADS and sprint-to-fire speed,” said Booya when describing his loadout. “We have changed the muzzle to the Lockshot KT85 instead of the underbarrel. This just gives you better horizontal recoil and vertical recoil control.” The gameplay Booya showed backed up his claims. He was able to easily round corners with a jump or peek into buildings where players were waiting for him, and he still managed to out-damage and win every confrontation where he was not outnumbered by the opponents. Timestamp – 28:50 The full customization is as follows: Muzzle: Lockshot KT85 – Laser: VLK LZR 7MW – Magazine: Fennec Mag 45 – Rear Grip: Fennec Rubber Grip – Stock: Agile Assault-7 Stock – Ideally, players interested in trying out this build for themselves in Warzone should back up their Fennec primary with an assault rifle or a sniper rifle, such as the recently added Chimera AR. This will ensure they have appropriate tools to deal with threats outside of Fennec’s effective range which is the major downside of this, and any SMG-type weapon.

Warzone 2 guru outlines off-meta SMG set to be MW2’s dominant weapon – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru outlines off-meta SMG set to be MW2’s dominant weapon ActivisonLooking to get ahead of the meta in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2? Well, there’s an SMG you might want to start using before it takes over. Over the last few weeks, the meta in both Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 have shifted quite a bit following two rounds of weapon changes in the Season 2 Reloaded and Season 3 updates. These changes have seen previously dominant weapons, such as the Fennec and RPK, slip just outside of the meta, being replaced by other options like the VEL 46 and Sakin MG. The Vaznev-9K and VEL are, for most players, the two dominant SMGs in Modern Warfare 2. The Lachmann Sub is also up there, but it’s not as all-mighty as it once was. However, there could soon be another choice rivaling those three for the crown of being the game’s best SMG. MX9 could soon dominate as go-to SMG in Warzone 2 & MW2 That’s at least according to Call of Duty stats guru WhosImmortal, who went over his new weapon tier list on April 16, following the recent changes in the game. After setting out some of his must-use weapons, he turned his attention to the MX9, noting that the SMGs recent buff has positioned it as the next go-to choice in the popular weapon class. “The sprint-to-fire got buffed and that, to me, is bringing it up into top tier. Honestly, it’s borderline absolute meta,” the YouTuber said. “This thing is feeling very good right now. Super low recoil, great mobility, and its TTK is actually surprisingly good. “So, keeping my eye on the MX9. It’s one that a lot of players might be switching to, especially if it were to receive one or two more buffs in future updates.” Timestamp of 8:50 WhosImmortal isn’t the first CoD guru to show the weapon some love recently, as Metaphor highlighted its “nasty” TTK just before the SMG received a buff in Season 3. Others have claimed that it is the best “ground loot” weapon when it comes to Warzone 2, so expect to see it leap up the meta soon enough.

Warzone 2 guru outlines Kastov 762 as “best” AR amid meta changes – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru outlines Kastov 762 as “best” AR amid meta changes ActivisonIf you’re looking to switch up your assault rifle loadouts in Warzone 2, you might want to go back to the Kastov 762 as one expert has crowned it the “best” AR in the game. Over the last few weeks, the Warzone 2 devs have shaken up the meta with regular rounds of weapon balancing. These changes have covered every weapon type in the battle royale, making it one of the healthiest metas in quite some time. The Cronen Squall, which was nerfed at the start of Season 4, remains the go-to weapon for most players, but it’s not as dominant as it once was. There are plenty of viable options to go alongside the rifle, with players also heralding the ISO 45 and Lachmann Sub as two of the best weapons in the game. Though, if you prefer to use assault rifles over SMGs, then you might want to turn back the clock and use the Kastov 762. Best Kastov 762 loadout in Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded Warzone 2 guru Metaphor highlighted the Kastov in his July 26 video and crowned it the “best” assault rifle in the battle royale following all the recent changes. “The Kastov 762 is back. After all the changes, nerfs to everything, all the readjustments, the Kastov 762 has risen back up to the top,” the YouTuber said. While the AR got a new attachment in the Season 4 Reloaded update, Metaphor isn’t using it. He’s still using the same loadout most players used back in Season 1, so you won’t have to grind to unlock something special. You can go back to the old faithful setup. Muzzle: ZLR Talon 5 – Barrel: KAS-10 584mm Barrel – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – Stock: KSTV-RPK Factory – Rear Grip: Demo-X2 Grip – The Kastov isn’t totally underrated in the new season as, according to WZRanked stats, it’s got a healthy pick rate of 6.4%. Though, it does sit behind the Squall, M13B, and Tempus Razorback. That could change moving forward, seeing as Metaphor has labeled it the best AR in the battle royale, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Warzone 2 guru outlines best SMG to get from ground loot – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru outlines best SMG to get from ground loot ActivisionWhen you land in Warzone 2 and find yourself scrambling for the best possible ground loot weapon, TheKoreanSavage revealed an SMG that everyone is overlooking. Infinity Ward made it easier to get loadout weapons in Warzone 2 by decreasing the price of customized weapons at a buy station from $5,000 to $2,500 and lowered the cost of loadout grenades. Those changes weren’t enough to satisfy some community members. Warzone 2 players demanded the developers add more buy stations to obtain useful items such as UAVs, gas masks, and loadout weapons. Fewer buy stations equate to players relying more on ground loot weapons, and KoreanSavage discovered a hidden gem. KoreanSavage explains why the MX9 is a must use weapon The Season 2 Reloaded weapon balances update increased mid-range damages for MX9. TrueGameData did his own testing and discovered it “was a really big buff” for the underused SMG. The MX9 doesn’t receive any weapon drop-off until 25 meters away, which changed from 20 meters. TheKoreanSavage decided to try the SMG himself and was shocked by how powerful the weapon was without any attachments as ground loot. “The MX9 feels so fluid right now. Whenever you see an MX9 on the ground, pick it up.” The YouTuber racked up 21 kills at the beginning of an Ashika Island match, using the ground loot version of an MX9. After having some fun with the base version, TheKoreanSavage went to a loadout drop and picked up an upgraded version of the devastating SMG. Best MX9 loadout Here is the best Warzone 2 MX9 loadout with weapon tuning included post-Season 2 Reloaded buff. Muzzle: XTEN RR-40 (+0.95 Recoil Smoothness, +0.77 Bullet Velocity) – Barrel: 508mm Rear Guard (+0.35 Recoil Steadiness, +0.31 Damage Range) – Ammunition: 9mm Sub FR (+0.52 Damage Range, +7.26 Bullet Velocity) – Optic: Slimline Pro (-2.32 ADS speed, -1.38 Eye Position) – Magazine: 32 Round Mag – “I am using every single attachment that to increase damage range because that’s literally what they buffed, so I am trying to stack all of that.” If you want a hybrid between an SMG and AR, look no further than the MX9.

Warzone 2 guru outlines Assault Rifle that is “way better” than meta ISO Hemlock – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru outlines Assault Rifle that is “way better” than meta ISO Hemlock ActivisionIf you’re looking to use something other than the ISO Hemlock in Warzone 2, then you might want to check out a powerful assault rifle that could be “way better” than the dominant gun. Over the last few weeks, the meta in Warzone 2 has shifted greatly following the releases of the Season 2 and Season 2 Reloaded update, which both brought about rounds of weapon balancing. These new updates have also added fresh guns to the battle royale’s ever-expanding weapon pool, with the ISO Hemlock – added in the main Season 2 update – shooting to the top of the pick rate charts. The powerful assault rifle has become the go-to weapon of choice for a majority of players, however, there might be something that is “way better” that is just creeping under its nose. Best Taq-56 loadout for Warzone 2 That’s according to YouTuber TheKoreanSavage anyway, as he believes the TAQ-56 is superior to the ISO Hemlock, given he has issues with the latter’s fire rate. “The Time to Kill is good on the ISO Hemlock but, like, the fire rate is my concern. The ISO feels good, but the fire rate just feels slow,” the YouTuber said. “This [TAQ-56] feels like butter!” While some players might want to use a sight on the TAQ, the KoreanSavage opts against it, running the 17.5’ Tundra Pro Barrel and 60-round mags instead of the more popular Aim OP-V4 sight and 40-round mags. Barrel: 17.5’ Tundra Pro Barrel – Muzzle: Harbinger D20 – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 – Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity – Magazine: 60-round mags – Timestamp of 12:12 As noted, the TAQ isn’t an off-meta choice like some other weapons that have gotten shine recently, as it clocks in with a 4% usage rate on WZRanked. Given that the YouTuber believes it beats out the Hemlock, don’t be shocked to see that tick up a little bit as others give it the same chance to perform.

Warzone 2 guru finds ridiculous AR build: “Worst loadout in the entire game” – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru finds ridiculous AR build: “Worst loadout in the entire game” ActivisionWarzone 2 expert Metaphor has created an off-meta Kastov 762 loadout that features a Masterkey underbarrel shotgun, and although it’s “the worst thing in the entire game”, the build works up close. Using the meta guns in Warzone 2 definitely gives you an edge over opponents armed with less ideal tools, but it never guarantees victory. Certain skilled individuals can utilize even the worst tools at their disposal for impressive feats, such as launching a nuke using only melee weapons. Metaphor opted to challenge himself with one such off-meta build that utilizes the “worst thing in the entire game” in his opinion, which is the Masterkey underbarrel shotgun attachment. Surprisingly, his Kastov 762 equipped with the Masterkey was able to take out a number of opponents up close. Masterkey Kastov 762 loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Barrel: Kas-10 584mm Barrel – Underbarrel: Corvus Masterkey – Rear Grip: Demo-X2 Grip – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – Stock: KSTV-Rpk Factory – Metaphor built this off-meta Kastov 762 with the Masterkey underbarrel shotgun in such a way that this single rifle can cover long, medium, and short distances in firefights. It’s definitely a “joke” build that Metaphor himself admitted had a lot of “fun” with, but it’s definitely not recommended for serious matches. Despite all of this the content creator found some pros of running the Masterkey shotgun in his video. “It has an extremely reliable two-tap up close. I mean, yeah, what else is it gonna do, one-shot? That’s never going to be a thing so. The problem is that it makes your AR worse.” On top of this Metaphor struggled to understand what kind of ammo his Masterkey required for most of the match where he used it. To his horror, it turns out that the Masterkey shotgun uses the launcher ammo usually used for Rocket Launchers and the underbarrel grenade launchers. This is definitely another big con of the attachment, as launcher ammo is scarce and you cannot stack a lot of it in your inventory and backpack slots. Of course, the main strength of this setup is that within a fraction of a second, you transform your medium-range Assault Rifle into a shotgun, which definitely has its uses.

Warzone 2 guru explains why you have been tuning wrong – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru explains why you have been tuning wrong ActivisionAfter extensive testing, the LA Guerillas discovered the best way to reduce recoil through tuning in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2. Modern Warfare 2 added a new layer of customization to class creation with tuning. The feature allows players to tailor attachments specifically for different playstyles. For example, while editing an under-barrel attachment, you can focus more on recoil stabilization or aim down-sight speed. As community members became more accustomed to the system, players discovered a right and wrong way to utilize it. Every attachment has a different sweet spot, and it’s up to the player to maximize a weapon’s potential. In wake of the Season 3 update, the LA Guerillas sought to find the best way to alleviate recoil with the help of tuning. What is the best way to reduce recoil in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2? Attachments offer three types of recoil reduction in MW2 and WZ2; stabilization, smoothness, and steadiness. The LA Guerillas tested all three to discover which eliminated the most recoil. Stabilization and smoothness failed to make a strong impression. “Stabilization reduces the side-to-side bounce, but it still feels hard to control. After testing most guns, we confirmed that smoothness is useless.” Smoothness is seemingly tied into a less erratic spray as opposed to compression, giving the edge to recoil steadiness as the most useful, and the LA Guerillas explained why. “Steadiness compresses the overall recoil. So when making your class, tune towards steadiness.” However, the TikToker warned not to max out the slider as it will drastically slow your weapon down. He suggested moving the slider until you notice a big jump in the graph, which is considered the sweet spot. In the Season 3 update, Infinity Ward increased the upside of most attachment stats and decreased their downsides. The change makes weapon tuning have more of an impact on a gun’s performance. It’s important to keep that in mind, while tuning your attachments. The next time you are building a loadout in WZ2 or MW2, focus on using attachments that offer recoil steadiness.

Warzone 2 guru explains why one-shot snipers are overrated – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru explains why one-shot snipers are overrated ActivisionOne-shot snipers dominate the current Warzone 2 long-range meta, but IcemanIsaac argued that players actually overlook the classes’ best weapon. Season 3 returned sniper rifles to their former glory in Warzone 2. The update made it possible for bolt-action rifles to down fully armored players in one shot by equipping explosive ammunition. This applies to the MCPR-300, FJX Imperium, and Victus XMR. Explosive ammunition doesn’t come without its weaknesses. It increases damage range by a whopping 40% but also reduces bullet velocity by 40%. This makes it harder to line up shots, as the rifles suffer from extreme bullet drop-off. So despite the MCPR-300 and FJX Imperium drawing more attention, IceManIsaac argued that one-shot sniping is overrated. What is the best sniper rifle in Warzone 2? IceManIsaac explained why his Signal 50 loadout will be “perfect” for Warzone Ranked and why multiple pros have already made the switch. “I have gassed up the Signal because it does 178 damage to the chest, and you can fire three bullets from the Signal by the time you fire one from a one-shot sniper,” he said. For reference, a fully armored enemy in Warzone 2 has 250 health. Meaning two quick shots to the chest can shred through an enemy while using the Signal 50. The YouTuber argued that the Signal 50 shines when dealing with multiple enemies simultaneously, and using a one-shot sniper in solos may still be better. He added: “It is nice to get a one-shot snipe and super satisfying, but when you can spam with a Signal, you are putting out so much more DPS.” Best Signal 50 Season 3 loadout Here is IceManIsaac’s Signal 50 loadout with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: Nilsound 90 Silencer (-0.77, -0.81) – Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser (+0.27, +44.42) – Optic: Forge TAC Delta 4 (+1.45, +0.75) – Ammunition: .50 CAL High Velocity (-0.25, +4.08) – Magazine: 7 Round Magazine – One-shot sniping is great in Warzone 2, but there is a reason why IceManIsaac considers the Signal 50 the best of the best.

Warzone 2 guru claims the Cronen Squall battle rifle is “absolutely broken” – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru claims the Cronen Squall battle rifle is “absolutely broken” YouTube: JGODWarzone 2 expert JGOD explained a unique characteristic that makes the Cronen Squall battle rifle lethal at all ranges. Infinity Ward introduced the Cronen Squall at the start of Season 3, and it immediately became a meta weapon. The hard-hitting battle rifle feels like an AR thanks to its fully automatic capability, but it also acts as a rifle in single-fire mode. According to WZRanked, the Cronen Squall is the fifth most popular weapon in Warzone 2, and the growing number of fans doesn’t surprise JGOD. Is the Cronen Squall the best weapon in Warzone 2? JGOD used data from TrueGameData to explain what makes the Cronen Squall so “broken and unique” compared to other weapons in the game. The YouTuber compared the battle rifle’s time-to-kill speed to the ISO Hemlock, Lachmann 556, and Kastov 762. “Up close, the fully automatic Cronen Squall is absolutely broken. This is like an SMG level meta TTK comparable to the Vaznev, and Lachmann Sub.” Both meta SMGS have a TTK of around 540 milliseconds, and the Cronen Squall has a TTK of 579 up to 42 meters away, which JGOD called “absurd.” JGOD admitted that this weapon suffers at longer ranges because of its difficult-to-control recoil compared to other long-range meta weapons. The YouTuber looked at the weapon’s fully automatic recoil pattern and discovered that it goes up and to the left instead of up and to the right like most other ARs. In single fire, the Cronen Squall’s recoil pattern barely moves at all, and its TTK still competes with most other long-range meta options. “That’s what makes this incredibly broken is the option semi-auto being so powerful and removing most of the recoil, and this covers up a glaring issue,” he added. A devastating combination of both fire types makes this a must-use weapon in Warzone 2 and Ranked Play.

Warzone 2 guru brushes aside Lachmann Sub and VEL 46 for underrated SMG loadout – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru brushes aside Lachmann Sub and VEL 46 for underrated SMG loadout ActivisionModern Warfare 2 Ranked Play and competitive COD fans are very familiar with the Vaznev-9K, and Metaphor believes its strengths translate perfectly to Warzone 2. Season 5 weapon balance changes did a lot and a little at the same time. Nerfs to the Cronen Squall opened the door for new contenders for the game’s long-range meta. And buffs to five SMGs blew Warzone 2’s short-range meta wide open. However, after a full week of getting adjusted to Season 5’s changes, the same few tried and true weapons found themselves right back at the top of popularity rankings. The Cronen Squall, ISO 45, and Lachmann Sub all comfortably held onto their spots as top meta weapons. Warzone 2 expert Metaphor challenged the COD community’s consensus opinion and made a case for the Vaznev-9K being the battle royale sequel’s best SMG. What is the best SMG in Warzone 2? Every Call of Duty League pro and most Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play players rely on the Vaznev-9K as their SMG of choice. It’s easy to see why, as the easy-to-use weapon shreds through enemies in multiplayer, and Metaphor discovered it’s just as dominant in WZ2. “I honestly think that this is the best SMG in Warzone 2 right now. The MP7 is good, the MP5 is good as well, but there is just something about this gun where I just go absolutely ballistic with this thing.” Metaphor credited his time playing MW2 Ranked Play for uncovering this underrated battle royale gem. “This thing is amazing. It has been my best SMG ever since I played Ranked Play in multiplayer. When your shot is on with this thing, with its fast fire rate and zero recoil, it just feels beautiful.” Best Vaznev-9K loadout in Warzone 2 Here is Metaphor’s go-to Vaznev-9K loadout with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: Spiral V3.5 Flash Hider (-0.68, +0.27) – Laser: Corio LAZ-44 V3 (-0.50, -51.00) – Stock: Markeev R7 Stock (-2.45, -1.47) – Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip (-0.61, -0.32) – Magazine: 45-Round Mag – If the Vaznev-9K didn’t check every box for you, make sure to check out our best Warzone 2 loadouts guide.

Warzone 2 guru brings back “infamous” MP7 loadout that’s straight from Verdansk – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru brings back “infamous” MP7 loadout that’s straight from Verdansk ActivisionLooking to throw it back to old school days of Warzone in Verdansk with the MP7? Well, there is a Warzone 2 class you can run that will do just that. Over the last few weeks, the meta in Warzone 2 has undergone a few changes thanks to the devs throwing out two rounds of weapon balancing and releasing some brand-new guns to mix. The VEL-46, otherwise known as the MP-7 has been one of those weapons that players have flocked to since the recent changes. The SMG has a rapid TTK and is easy to handle, making it a perfect secondary choice. Though, if you wanted to throw it all the way back to the days of Verdansk, well, you can. There’s a loadout that’s perfect for hip-firing just like the MP7 used to do in the original Warzone. Best VEL-46 loadout in Warzone 2 That’s right, YouTuber TheKoreanSavage highlighted the VEL-46 in his May 8 video, noting that he was getting some Verdansk MP7 vibes from the gun and wanted to go back to his “infamous” loadout. What’s interesting to note about it, is that this build doesn’t really follow any of the attachments that have become part of the standard VEL-46 loadouts. There is no place for the 50-round mag or Lacerta Compensator muzzle, for example. Instead, the Warzone 2 guru opts for the Singuard MKV muzzle, Schlager RV-B, and Hipshot L20 laser to focus on the SMG’s hip fire capabilities. There is even a spot for the vastly underused VX Pineapple underbarrel. Muzzle: Singuard MKV – Barrel: Schlager RV-B – Underbarrel: VX Pineapple – Laser: Hipshot L20 – Rear Grip: Schlager Soldier Grip – The VEL has slipped down the pick rate charts just a touch over the last few weeks, now sitting as the 8th most-used gun according to WZRanked’s stats. It remains to be seen if it’ll be able to topple some of the more popular SMGs, but the original Warzone vibes could help a fair bit.

Warzone 2 guru argues TTK is still too low after Season 3 Reloaded update – Dexerto
Warzone 2 guru argues TTK is still too low after Season 3 Reloaded update ActivisionSeason 3 Reloaded attempted to make Warzone 2 time-to-kill speeds slower in short-range engagements, but TrueGameData claims it wasn’t enough. As the name suggests, time-to-kill refers to the amount of time it takes for a weapon to kill an opponent. The mechanic always creates controversy in FPS games, as some players prefer a slower TTK, while others prefer it to be faster. JGOD compared the TTK speed of every Warzone season and concluded that WZ2’s long-range TTK is actually in a good place, while close-range engagements are a problem, and players die too fast. The Season 3 Reloaded update made a few changes to the battle royale sequel’s TTK speed, and TrueGameData tested what the update actually did. Did the Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded TTK changes help? The Season 3 Reloaded update added maximum armor damage values to ARs, battle rifles, SMGs, and LMGS. Activision argued in the update blog post: “These values will assist in slowing down close-range time-to-kill.” However, after the update, TrueGameData tested every weapon and concluded: “There is a damage cap to players that have armor on. This only affects things like headshots, occasionally neck and chest shots in that damage range.” TrueGameData used the STB 556 as an example. The AR does 40 damage for a headshot, but the update caps maximum armor damage at 33. So if you hit a player in the head with plates, it only does 33 damage instead of 40. Once those plates break, the damage goes back up to 40. The mid-season update also added minimum damage values to a few weapons that can be found in the full weapon balancing list. The YouTuber used the STB as an example again. From 47 meters away, the AR does 18 damage to all extremities besides the head, chest, and neck, which is more. The STB has minimum armor damage of 22, so if the enemy has plates on the weapon will deal 22 damage instead of 18. TrueGameData argued that the TTK is faster in long-range engagements and slower in a close-range gunfight if a player lands headshots that override the damage value. “The community has been begging for an increase in time-to-kill to some degree,” and the YouTuber hoped this would give fans what they wanted. However: “It’s just really for headshots, so it does reduce the time-to-kill in certain situations, but outside of that, it’s not going to really have an impact on TTK, unfortunately.” Make sure to also check out our full coverage of the Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded update.

Warzone 2 Gulag glitch accidentally executes player’s teammate – Dexerto
Warzone 2 Gulag glitch accidentally executes player’s teammate Activision BlizzardA bizarre glitch accidentally let a Warzone 2 player perform an execution on their teammate during a Gulag match. A holdover from the original Call of Duty: Warzone, the Gulag is a prison where players duke it out with others after dying in a battle royale game. The Gulag in the original Warzone challenged players to one-versus-one matches, a chance at redemption that decided who could return to battle. This same premise applies to Warzone 2’s Gulag, except competing users now face off in 2v2 bouts. A recently discovered bug seems to have complicated things, however. Glitch in Warzone 2 Gulag turns teammates into enemies Reddit user Kazukii18 won a Gulag match for their squad, taking out an unsuspecting enemy with a melee attack. But when the Redditor tried finishing off the battle with a finisher, things failed to go as planned. Instead of performing the execution on the downed foe, the player accidentally eliminated their own squadmates. “So you can execute [your] teammate in gulag,” Kazukii18 wrote in a post accompanied by footage of the strange glitch in action. Fortunately, as another Redditor pointed out, the player’s kill count in the top-right corner suggests the teammate actually survived the accidental attack. Even so, this is one Gulag glitch that developers will hopefully address in a future Warzone 2 update. The Gulag has experienced its fair share of problems since Warzone 2 landed last month. For a time, one glitch insta-killed players upon winning the Gulag match and returning to the main game. And for those who want to get better at surviving the prison-based battle, Call of Duty pro Apathy recently shared a few noteworthy tips and tricks.

Warzone 2 Gulag bug is killing players instantly – Dexerto
Warzone 2 Gulag bug is killing players instantly Activision BlizzardCall of Duty: Warzone 2 players found a strange bug in the Gulag that can instantly kill whoever wins the match. The Gulag isn’t a new feature to the battle royale experience. It appeared in the original Warzone, too, as a place where players were sent after dying in battle. While there, users faced off against each other in one-on-one matches, a fight to see who would get to return to the battlefield. Warzone 2 spices things up for the Gulag by trading in one-on-one duels for two-versus-two matches with randoms. It’s an interesting twist on the formula, but a bizarre glitch has already ruined the fun for some. Winning your Gulag in Warzone 2 may cause a bug Popular Twitch streamer Viss has issued a PSA of sorts, letting Warzone 2 players know that they may incur deadly consequences upon winning the Gulag. Apparently, if you come out of your Gulag victorious and return to the game, “you will then insta-die once knocked.” According to Viss, this has been confirmed as a bug. There’s some semblance of good news to go along with the bad, though. Dying in the Gulag but returning because your teammate brings you back won’t result in instant death. Suffice it to say, Warzone 2 has quite a few problems to work out. In addition to the Gulag bug, Warzone 2 users have also encountered insta-death glitches that occur after a player randomly falls through the map. The broken Social menu, performance issues, and the occasional server error have troubled the recent launch of the Warzone sequel, as well. Hopefully, these problems and others are resolved as quickly as possible.

Warzone 2 grinder reveals ‘overlooked’ SMG to take over Ashika Island – Dexerto
Warzone 2 grinder reveals ‘overlooked’ SMG to take over Ashika Island ActivisionA Warzone 2 master has revealed his ‘overlooked’ BAS-P loadout and it’s the perfect Ashika Island SMG. TheKoreanSavage is a Warzone 2 demon and has made some unreal plays on Ashika Island since it was released with Season 2. He’s as knowledgeable about what guns are useful as anyone in the world, and his underrated SMG loadout might as well be shooting an actual laser beam like the Cyclopean Erad from Infinite Warfare. While there are a number of great submachine guns to pick from, this one is worth a try for anyone that’s growing tired of the same few guns being at the top. Warzone 2 expert’s SMG loadout rips on Ashika Island The gun in question is the BAS-P, which comes with the 9x19mm Subsonic Ammo that hides tracers and enemy skull markers on death. It has been in the shadow of the other SMGs so far, but a few variations of it are starting to catch on around the community. Here is K3’s loadout that helped him drop back-to-back 20+ kill games on Ashika Island: Barrel: 12″ Bruen SZ-36 – Muzzle: XTEN RR-40 – Underbarrel: FTAC Tiger Grip – Magazine: 50-Round Drum – Optic: Slimline Pro – As he proved in the gameplay embedded above, this thing can do some real damage even at medium range, and the 50-Round Drum means that players can take those down-range shots without worrying about having to reload and recentering on their target. Even with the added range, this is still the type of gun that’s best paired with a high-damage Assault Rifle, and while he uses a Lachmann 556 in his setup, any of the game’s best ARs will complement it nicely.

Warzone 2 god-mode glitch is making players completely invincible – Dexerto
Warzone 2 god-mode glitch is making players completely invincible ActivisonA new Warzone 2 glitch is making players completely invincible to damage, effectively giving them god-mode hacks without using third-party software. As Warzone 2 only launched on November 16, the sequel is still in its early stages and as a result, the community are running into a lot of issues. Whether it’s game crashes, players being insta-killed in the Gulag, or problems with gas masks carried over from the original game, it’s safe to say the devs have got a lot of issues to iron out. Of course, some bugs are more serious than others, and a recently discovered god-mode glitch is causing a lot of concern as it makes players completely unkillable. It’s even more worrying that the competitors inflicted with this OP power don’t seem to know how they activated it. Invincibility glitch is making players unkillable in Warzone 2 Posted to the CODWarzone subreddit, user DukeNukedEmm showcased a clip of them in a Quads BR match on Al Mazrah. All of a sudden, they saw an enemy running towards them out in the open and unarmed. Of course, they immediately decided to beam them down with their full mag, but quickly realized the opponent wasn’t taking any damage. Although hitmakers popped up over their body, the opponent was completely invincible and continued running toward them. While at first, this would seem like hacks, proximity chat presented a different story, with the unkillable enemy confused about why they were not taking damage. “Dude I’m back in the game… They’re trying to shoot me and the bullets are going right through me”. This shocked reaction suggests it was a glitch that caused the invincibility, not hacks or third-party software. It’s impossible to know how this bug was activated but as the invulnerable player says they’re “back in the game”, there’s a chance it has something to do with the Gulag. Either way, this is a problem the devs will have to resolve as soon as possible and hopefully, it won’t become a widespread glitch on Al Mazrah.

Warzone 2 glitch lets dead players avoid Gulag and they’re baffled by it – Dexerto
Warzone 2 glitch lets dead players avoid Gulag and they’re baffled by it ActivisonA bizarre Warzone 2 glitch is bringing players back to life and allowing them to stay in Al Mazrah while waiting for their Gulag. As with the original game, the Gulag is an iconic aspect of Warzone 2 that allows players to earn a second chance if their gun skills are sharp enough to win a 2v2 arena-style battle. For some, this is one of the most exciting aspects of Warzone’s battle royale format as the skirmishes are always intense and a must-win if you want to carry on. Despite this, as the game is still in its early stages, players are discovering countless bugs and unfortunately, the Gulag is causing some very strange issues. One particular glitch that’s getting a lot of attention is bringing players back to life after they’ve been killed, allowing them to run around Al Mazrah while they wait for their Gulag. In some cases, they even skip the 2v2 completely and get a free life. Bizarre Warzone 2 glitch allows players to avoid Gulag After being taken down in a Quads match on Al Mazrah, Twitter user Marty21 expected to be transported to the Gulag lobby to wait for their 2v2 battle. Instead, they were immediately resurrected onto the map where they died with no weapons equipped. Marty21 was unable to pick up any guns and after around 20 seconds, they were finally transferred into a Gulag match. By the looks of it, the game appears to have forgotten to transfer Marty21 to the Gulag, leaving them on Al Mazrah but only able to melee as if they were in the lobby waiting for the 2v2. As Marty21 didn’t encounter any enemies during this resurrection period, it’s impossible to know whether they could take or deal damage. It appears this problem with the Gulag isn’t an isolated issue, with other players complaining on a Reddit thread that they completely skipped the 2v2, but were spawned “in gas” which slayed them “instantly” as soon as they arrived back on the map. As the Gulag is such a fundamental part of the Warzone 2 experience, the devs will need to prioritize a fix for these bugs and with Season 1 Reloaded coming on December 14, let’s hope some fixes are included in the patch.

Warzone 2 glitch is randomly sending players to the Gulag without dying – Dexerto
Warzone 2 glitch is randomly sending players to the Gulag without dying ActivisionThe Gulag in Warzone 2 has caused some division among players, as it brought in a new style of gameplay to the Call of Duty battle royale, but everyone will agree that a glitch randomly sending players to the Gulag shouldn’t be happening. Warzone 2 launched in November 2022, and despite mass fanfare at the start, the bugs and glitches in the game, alongside a completely revamped style of battle royale, have turned a number of players off. This glitch, though, has to be by far one of the most frustrating for players looking to simply enjoy their time in Al Mazrah and, hopefully, notch up some wins to add to their tally. The issue is, that becomes far more difficult when the game is working against you, exactly as Warzone player Drago discovered when watching it happen to his teammate. As you can see from the teammate’s POV, everything looks absolutely fine, and while he’s driving through the tunnel he randomly gets sent to the Gulag despite not even being shot at. From Drago’s POV, though, it’s much clearer: when his teammate starts driving, the car glitches and flies through the air, finally crashing and exploding, sending him to the Gulag. None of this was visible to the player actually driving. It’s unclear how exactly this has happened. It doesn’t look like a latency issue from the victim’s POV, but it’s hard to provide a precise cause, especially for the average player simply witnessing it happen. This is actually almost the exact opposite of a glitch Warzone pro Fifakill had while he was in the Gulag, when his teammate bought him back into the game before his Gulag match had even ended. Nonetheless, with Season 2 delayed, this is another issue for the devs to look into and try to get fixed before the new season launches.

Wild Warzone 2 glitch makes helicopters explode for no reason – Dexerto
Wild Warzone 2 glitch makes helicopters explode for no reason Activision BlizzardA wild Call of Duty: Warzone 2 glitch caused much confusion when one player’s helicopter blew up for no apparent reason. Warzone 2 players have encountered more than a fair few glitches since the game’s launch on PC and consoles last fall. The Social Menu and infinite XP bugs counted among the most notable hiccups that plagued the Warzone sequel out of the gate. Newer issues often pop up, too, with some proving far more difficult to ignore than others. One recent glitch, for example, kept downed players from returning to the fight even after being revived. Now yet another error has managed to puzzle users. Strange Warzone 2 glitch causes random helicopter explosion During a recent Call of Duty: Warzone 2 match, Redditor latenitelover‘s helicopter randomly combusted for no apparent reason. The Reddit user shared a gameplay clip of the moment, which shows the aircraft exploding despite the airspace around it looking clear. Naturally, jokes about what may have gone wrong fill the Reddit thread. “That tree has enforced a no-fly zone,” one person said of the tree the helicopter nears right before exploding. “I thought a bird took you out for a second lol,” another Warzone 2 player said in jest. Upon closer inspection, it does appear that someone in a tower across the way fires off an RPG right around the four-second mark. But the chopper goes up in flames before the missile even gets halfway to its destination. This counts as one helicopter glitch that defies explanation, which is arguably true of any number of Warzone 2 hiccups. Hopefully, the issue isn’t too widespread.

Warzone 2 Gas Mask glitch is back again and ruining Ranked matches – Dexerto
Warzone 2 Gas Mask glitch is back again and ruining Ranked matches ActivisionThe Gas Mask glitch is back once again in Warzone 2, with players earning free wins and SR by simply getting unlimited Gas Mask usage and never dying to the gas. The Gas Mask glitch is definitely nothing new in Warzone, having happened in the Call of Duty battle royale title dating back to the Verdansk days in 2020. The glitch is fairly self-explanatory: it allows players to get unlimited use of their Gas Mask, which is meant to crack and break after a certain amount of time in the gas, but instead, it just keeps going on and on. That allows the player to just wait in the gas for the end of the game, causing their opponents to die in the gas before claiming the win themselves. Gas Mask glitch returns in Warzone 2 Despite numerous attempts to put an end to the Gas Mask glitch once and for all, the developers have had no luck removing it permanently ever since it first arrived. It was first discovered to be in Warzone 2 just shortly after its launch in November 2022, with the issue carrying over from one game and map to the next. While it died down for a while after and a fix was patched into the game, they didn’t manage to make it permanent and the glitch is present once again, with many players losing both public and Ranked matches to opponents abusing it. This seems to have been happening for a few days at the time of writing, so there’s no doubt the devs will catch on to it soon and try to find another fix. Ranked players, especially, will be hoping for this to be sorted sooner rather than later, at risk of losing SR and failing to rise up the ranks.

Warzone 2 gameplay and map details leaked by Call of Duty pro – Dexerto
Warzone 2 gameplay and map details leaked by Call of Duty pro ActivisionMetaphor, A Warzone pro player claimed to see Warzone 2 gameplay and shared his thoughts. An Activision internal document leaked a Warzone 2 release date. Slated to launch November 16, Warzone’s much-anticipated sequel has fans on the edge of their seats waiting. Unfortunately, concrete details are scarce for the upcoming battle royale. We know that a brand new map is launching alongside Warzone 2. Industry Insider Tom Henderson revealed an image of the entire map, including every POI. Swimming makes its debut and will be a crucial traversal method in the new experience. A Warzone pro player claimed to see the new map featuring a match with bots, and they shared their positive impressions. Warzone pro provides Warzone 2 insight Warzone streamer Metaphor allegedly saw the new Warzone 2 map and claimed it is “beautiful” in-game. When asked about gameplay, Metaphor responded, “I have seen gameplay of Multiplayer/DMZ/ Warzone 2 and can confirm it looks gorgeous visually, the buildings are detailed on the inside better, and the movement is more grounded.” The Warzone pro confirmed slide canceling is no longer a feature, and the game “feels more like CoD 4.” On August 11, Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer developed revealed a new map, Farm 18. At the end of the reveal trailer, we got a first look at gunplay. The AR in the trailer appeared to have massive recoil. Metaphor stated, “The recoil you saw in the trailer they released was fake; that’s all I will say.” When asked if the new map resembles Verdansk, Metaphor claimed Warzone 2 plays like a mix of Blackout and Caldera. Activision or Infinity Ward did not confirm any of Methaphor’s claims but are a positive indication of what’s to come.

Warzone 2 finally announces solos playlist for Ashika island – Dexerto
Warzone 2 finally announces solos playlist for Ashika island ActivisionActivision finally announced a Resurgence solos playlist for Ashika Island, and fans are ecstatic. Warzone 2 received its first Resurgence map, Ashika Island, as part of the Season 2 update. Instead of the typical battle royale experience, players respawn in the Resurgence game mode until the latter stages of a match. The original patch notes stated Ashika Island would be available for all squad sizes, quads, trios, duos, and solos. However, the new map only launched with quads, and players called out the developers for “lying.” Activision responded by correcting and stating, “each of the four squad sizes for Resurgence will be in the playlist rotation at some point throughout Season 2.” When does Ashika Island Solos come out? Players will get their first taste of solos action on Ashika Island starting on Friday, February 24. Based on previous CoD updates, we expect the playlist to go live at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM GMT. Warzone 2 players blast squad size rotation system Ashika Island is much smaller in scale than Al Mazrah, hosting 52 players, which is 13 squads of four in quads. With players respawning in four-person teams, taking out enemies can be a little too chaotic, especially if you are solo-queued. Some community members believed the game mode and map would flow better in a solos format, and they finally got their wish. Activision confirmed a solo playlist is coming to Ashika Island on Friday, February 24. The announcement comes with a catch, as the solo playlist is part of a rotation. Warzone used a map rotation with Rebirth Island, and community members bashed it for limiting their playtime on the beloved map. Players reacted similarly this time, as one user responded, “literally just stop with this weekly sh** and give us every option all the time; it isn’t hard.” A second community member added, “what about duos and trios? I don’t know when you all will learn these maps and modes need to have all of them.” For now, players must log on when their preferred squad size is available because they only get it for a limited period.

Warzone 2 finally adds auto-looting armor plates in Season 2 Reloaded – Dexerto
Warzone 2 finally adds auto-looting armor plates in Season 2 Reloaded Activision BlizzardInfinity Ward listened to community feedback and added a way for players to automatically pick up armor plates in the Season 2 Reloaded update. Warzone 2’s armor system has been the focal point of several different headlines. In the Season 2 update, Infinity Ward standardized three-plate armor vests and improved plating moving speed. Ashika Island joined the battle royale’s map rotation in Season 2, and community members complained over a lack of armor plates. Raven Software quickly rolled out an update, adding more armor plates, and also addressed a glitch that made armor plates disappear. As the developers continue to fine-tune the game’s armor system, Season 2 Reloaded made two more notable changes. The mid-season update changes the armor break system and adds auto-looting armor plates. Infinity Ward broke down the decision-making process behind the new changes. Season 2 Reloaded adds long-awaited armor plate features Players automatically pick up armor plates if they have inventory or backpack space. In the Season 2 Reloaded blog post, the developers claimed, “armor plates are a critical part of the gameplay loop.” You can never have enough armor plates. In most instances, players always chose to loot armor plates anyways, so this new update expedites that process, allowing players to save time. The Season 2 Reloaded update also removed the armor break notification when breaking all of an opponent’s armor plates. Season 2 added the notification, but some players complained that the text made it more confusing and cluttered on screen. Infinity Ward elaborated that the icon will still alert players when armor is broken, but removing the text improves clarity. Other quality-of-life improvements include better navigation pings for squads, Cluster and Precision Airstrike improvements, and refinements to the spawn protection system.

Warzone 2 files hint in-game Modern Warfare 3 reveal event is just on the horizon – Dexerto
Warzone 2 files hint in-game Modern Warfare 3 reveal event is just on the horizon ActivisionCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 could be poised for a spectacular entrance in Warzone 2, with new game files hinting at an imminent live-event unveiling. Well-known leaker, HeyImAlaix, teased this possibility in a recent tweet stating, “Seems like a reveal event will happen in Al Mazrah (DMZ?) in S5…it is named ‘Reveal.’” This clue suggests that gamers could be in for a special live event expected to take place in the game’s upcoming fifth season. This isn’t the first we’ve heard of the new Modern Warfare installment. Insider Gaming previously reported that the 2023 Call of Duty title, Modern Warfare 3 (Modern Warfare III), is being developed by Sledgehammer Games and assisted by various other studios. The report also highlighted that Modern Warfare 3 would be a full-fledged sequel to Modern Warfare 2, including a campaign, multiplayer, zombies, and a fresh Warzone map launching during the title’s first season in December. CoD_Perseus, another leaker, previously shared early design images for the next Call of Duty installment back in May. These images allude to the possibility that Terminal, a map from Modern Warfare 2 (2009), which saw revivals in other Call of Duty titles, might return again in Modern Warfare 3. Additionally, Scrapyard, another crowd-favorite albeit smaller map, could potentially feature in MW3, if these images prove credible. The most recent Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded update also brought many other surprises with it, including speculation that famed artists 21 Savage and Nicki Minaj may be potentially joining Warzone 2 as Operators. These rumors, also sparked by recent data mining revelations, suggest Activision might be expanding its horizons to infuse more star power into its renowned FPS franchise, emulating other games like Fortnite that regularly roll out high-profile collaborations. The possibility of a Warzone 2 event for the unveiling of Modern Warfare 3 aligns with previous trends. Both Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard were revealed through live events in Warzone, offering a dynamic way to introduce the new titles. As always, remember to take these leaks with a grain of salt, and stay tuned for official announcements.

Warzone 2 Feb 24 update: RPK, Fennec 45, and one-shot snipers nerfs – Dexerto
Warzone 2 Feb 24 update: RPK, Fennec 45, and one-shot snipers nerfs ActivisionInfinity Ward announced a weapon balancing patch, dishing out nerfs to some of Warzone 2’s most popular weapons, including the RPK, Fennec 45, & the recent one-shot sniper builds. Warzone 2’s meta underwent a slight shakeup after the Season 2 update. The RPK, TAQ-V, Fennec 45, and Kastov 762 received slight nerfs. However, some community members argued that all four weapons still stood head and shoulders above other options. According to WZRanked, the RPK remains the second most popular weapon post-update. Players also discovered that the Season 2 update secretly made snipers a one-shot kill using incendiary ammunition. The feature divided community members; some embraced a blast from the past, while others called it too overpowered. Infinity Ward listened to community feedback and released a wide-scale weapon-balancing update. Warzone 2 update hammers popular weapons The February 24 update finally knocks down the RPK a peg. The weapon thrived because of its recoil control, but the patch increases its vertical and horizontal recoil while also reducing its damage range. As for the Kastov 762, the deadly AR’s damage range was also reduced. We have seen this in previous updates, but Infinity Ward announced a Fennec nerf exclusive to Warzone 2. The speedy SMG requires two additional bullets to break three armor plates, and its far damage was reduced. Lastly, the TAQ-V also suffered from a few more nerfs, and incendiary ammunition no longer allow sniper rifles to down players with three armor plates. The update also addresses a few Ranked Play bugs, including players getting kicked from matches and receiving harsher suspensions than intended. Warzone 2 Feb 17 update: Throwing knife buff, DMZ self-revive, more ActivisionWarzone 2 updates have been arriving at breakneck speeds, and Activision rolled out another patch addressing bug fixes and buffing lethal equipment items. Infinity Ward and Raven Software have been working around the clock to address issues caused by the Season 2 update. It all started on February 15, as the developers rushed out a hotfix to address vanishing armor plates on Ashika Island. On February 16, Infinity Ward released a patch for the rampant game crashes plaguing MW2 and WZ2. The update also fixed an issue causing players to lose the ability to move after reviving a teammate and an armor plate equipping issue. For a third consecutive day, the Warzone 2 developers rolled out a fresh update, dealing with Field Upgrade and Killstreak Bugs, as well as a few gameplay adjustments. Lethal equipment items buffed in Warzone 2 Semtex and Drill Charges will now down a player with maximum armor plates if they hit an enemy’s body directly. Throwing knives also down fully plated players if it hits their head or upper torso. Warzone 1 allowed players to one-shot enemies with throwing knives, and the decision stirred controversy among community members. As for a few UI changes, players will now be able to see the attachments for their active loadouts with highlighted yellow indicators in the bottom right of the screen, and the Heavy Chopper that extracts the winning Warzone 2 team will now use the cosmetic skin used by the highest scoring team member. Players who solo queue in DMZ will now be able to self-revive if their assimilated teammates are downed, and AI bomb drone effectiveness was decreased by 85%. The update also prevents players from abusing an exploit that allowed them to drive out of bounds without punishment. Warzone 2 Feb 16 patch notes: Game crashes, revive glitch, more – Dexerto
Warzone 2 Feb 16 patch notes: Game crashes, revive glitch, more ActivisionInfinity Ward announced a hotfix for bugs plaguing Warzone 2 after the Season 2 update. Warzone 2 Season 2 is finally here, introducing a new Resurgence map, customizable Perks, and major gameplay changes. Unfortunately, rampant game crashes marred an exciting seasonal update for Modern Warfare 2 and WZ2 players. Making matters worse, players crashed in the middle of Ranked Play matches, resulting in lost Skill Rating points and 1-hour suspensions to no fault of their own. In a less severe issue, players reported a surprising lack of armor plates in the new Resurgence playlist. Raven Software rushed out a hotfix hours later, adding more armor plates. The developers also responded in record time to fix the game’s crashing issues and other hiccups affecting Season 2’s launch. Game crashes and revive bug resolved in hotfix update On February 16, Infinity Ward added a new section to the Season 2 patch notes, going over bug fixes made. Players experienced game crashes after starting the game, and the latest patch should fix that issue. Also, some users experience an issue causing them to lose the ability to move after reviving a downed squad member. Lastly, an issue prevented armor plates from being automatically equipped. Those three issues, along with other bugs, have now been resolved. Warzone 2 February 16 patch notes Here are the full Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 February 16 patch notes. Warzone 2 fans plead for John Wick to be the next major crossover – Dexerto
Warzone 2 fans plead for John Wick to be the next major crossover Lions Gate Entertainment/ActivisionWarzone 2 players are desperate for a John Wick-inspired bundle and they’re pleading their case to Activision. The original Warzone made a trend of crossing over with huge movie franchises like Die Hard, Godzilla, and Rambo, and fans are itching for more big-time collaborations. Now that the franchise has caught back up to the modern day, players are ready for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 to get that ball rolling once again. Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles kicked things off in Season 2 Reloaded, but that wasn’t enough to satiate their hunger. Warzone 2 fans call for John Wick skin bundle With John Wick: Chapter 4 now out and receiving outstanding reviews, there’s been a real push for the character to be the next battle royale entrant. A passionate fan tossed the idea up on Reddit with the caption “all we want” and others rallied around the idea. One person joked that the resulting skin “would be breathtaking” and another suggested that it would be better than “99% of packs they’ve released” so far in Warzone 2. It would be quite the shakeup from many of the game’s current bundles, and that kind of change would clearly be a welcome addition. Of course, there were dissenters among the group, with many citing that they’d rather the game be improved than any of the devs focus on new skins and bundles, but seeing as those are two different parts of game development, there’s no reason fans can’t have both things come true. For all the latest gaming news and updates, be sure to check out Dexerto’s full coverage here.

Warzone 2 fans mock devs after announcing 1v1 Gulag as “new feature” in Season 2 – Dexerto
Warzone 2 fans mock devs after announcing 1v1 Gulag as “new feature” in Season 2 Warzone 2 players have torn into the devs after the roadmap revealed many Season 2 additions to the game, one being the decision to make the Gulag 1v1 again. Over time, the Warzone 2 team has reverted several aspects of the game that made the sequel differentiate itself from the original Warzone. Loadouts are back after not being present in the game at launch and after repeated complaints from players, the Gulag is now back to being a 1v1 affair — a completely different prospect to the 2v2 matches that Warzone 2 introduced. The Gulag update has been criticized though as instead of just being an update in the patch notes, the devs gave it a full space on the Season 2 roadmap and advertised it in “new features.” To the surprise of no one, this decision has incited a lot of mocking and has amused players. “Call of Duty, stop, you’re making me laugh LOL,” was the title of one Reddit post that zeroed in on the Gulag change being represented as a new feature. It drew the ire of CoD fans with one user saying: “‘New features’ AKA reverting every new feature because the Devs were trash and were completely disconnected from its game’s fan base.” Some players have been sympathetic to the devs for trying something new, but the consensus is that a 2v2 Gulag was never the right play. “The EA way. Remove features and reintroduce them as new,” commented one Warzone 2 user as EA have been known down the years, especially in sports games, to remove features, and then add them back in several iterations down the line. With many of the Season 1 changes and Season 2 changes now in effect, it will be interesting to see how the battle royale title performs moving forward — especially with Ashika Island shaking things up.

Warzone 2 fans left divided over yet another Gulag overhaul debuting in Season 3 – Dexerto
Warzone 2 fans left divided over yet another Gulag overhaul debuting in Season 3 ActivisionWarzone 2 will be receiving another Gulag update in Season 3 and it has fans split right down the middle over whether it’s a good idea or not. Warzone 2 is taking some big swings in Season 3. The arrival of a new Gulag is matched by the introduction of Al Mazrah Resurgence, as well as the return of the fan-favorite Plunder mode. While these will all surely bring a breath of fresh air to the game as they get rolled out throughout the season, the Gulag was just revamped in Season 2 and some think the new arena smell hasn’t had enough time to wear off just yet. Warzone 2 fans react to new Blacksite Gulag in Season 3 The new Blacksite Gulag will replace the Warzone 2.0 Gulag on Al Mazrah entirely. Not only that though, but it will also serve as a Gunfight map in Modern Warfare 2 as well. It’s already a divisive change even without much detail, with some players praising the addition of “a new place to make us anxious”, and others casting doubts on the need for a change at all. “Actually looks good. Clear daylight and doesn’t seem to be full of dark shadows,” Paradox_EP tweeted. “Every gulag since showers has been under par so I’m not over-hyped for this,” another fan chimed in. Other commenters took it a step further, with several people across Twitter and Reddit calling the game “disappointing” as a whole. There are a number of massive changes in Warzone Season 3 though, so perhaps there’s still time for the devs to win people over yet again.

Warzone 2 fans concerned as AI bots run rampant at reveal event – Dexerto
Warzone 2 fans concerned as AI bots run rampant at reveal event ActivisionAl Mazrah is Warzone 2’s new map, but the game’s reveal showed off a bunch of AI-controlled bots scattered around the map, leaving fans worried ahead of the game’s release. It’s safe to say that Activision is making sure that Warzone 2 stands on its own two feet and is a different entity altogether compared to the original Warzone. A completely overhauled Gulag is causing a ruckus, the new “Shop” is making waves, and even the safe circles are getting a rejig. There’s literally so much going on in the world of CoD Warzone at the moment that it’s easy to forget about some of the smaller changes that will take place in the game — but will still have a massive impact. During the Call of Duty: Next event, amongst all the flying bullets and fights for battle royale supremacy, many people noticed the presence of bots throughout the new Warzone 2 map. Needless to say, their presence has gone down like a lead balloon already and fans have voiced their concerns. Warzone 2 bots a cause for concern in Al Mazrah? Having AI in a game of Warzone is nothing new as we’ve previously seen terrorists attacking players at Nakatomi Plaza, as well as Zombie outbreaks taking place in popular POIs. The difference is that these were usually optional AI encounters that players would have to seek out themselves to take on in the hopes of getting special loot and rewards. Early indicators are that bots will be all around Al Mazrah, but their whereabouts are completely random and they could pop up in the middle of a gunfight. “Just came back from watching Myth’s stream of WZ2…it was weird to see NPC bots in seemingly random locations/just sitting inside buildings staring at walls. I hope they get removed or become more localized at certain POIs because they don’t seem very fun to fight and will just waste your plates before you fight real players,” one Reddit post said. Another commented: “The AI. I don’t like this at all. There is no satisfaction with fighting bots. They aren’t real players, they don’t provide a challenge, and engaging with them just exposes you to real players to flank you.” Whereas another user thinks that the devs have an obsession with bots: “Not one but two sets of bots in Fortunes Keep and now (what looks like) permanent bots in WZ2? Who wants this? Who thinks this would be a great addition to a BR? I hate how you give away your position if you engage them, but they chip away your plates if you ignore them.” As well as being situated around the map, bots are also in the new 2v2 Gulag fights, another reason why players have shared concerns following the reveal event. In any case, there’s plenty of time between now and the game’s full release, so the devs might tinker with things before then.

Warzone 2 fans bash “pointless” DMZ missions not worth the effort – Dexerto
Warzone 2 fans bash “pointless” DMZ missions not worth the effort ActivisionWarzone 2’s DMZ mode features missions that have left fans of the game scratching their head in confusion at how “pointless” they feel. DMZ has been a welcome addition to the pool of different modes that have come and gone across Warzone 1 and 2. Some have even referred to it as the “best Call of Duty game in years“. However, some claim it misses some of its swings. The player base has frequently asked the devs to nerf the game’s AI, with bots possessing a tendency to ruin matches by randomly turning into killing machines on par with hackers. A second big issue the player base has with DMZ are the missions, which are supposed to be one of the main draws of the mode. Some of them require tremendous amounts of effort to finish and reward players with weapons and XP that seasoned DMZ players will likely not need. DMZ players tired of “pointless” missions Highlighted in a January 7 post, one fan said: “I don’t think I have never felt more strongly that I waste time than when I see these completely pointless “missions”. 90 gas masks and 100 radiation blockers – for a shotgun that I’ll lose the first time it will be equipped.” Another said: “DMZ is boring. People talk about these missions but they’re just grindy like this with no real fun or cool reward. There is no economy, no progression, and no objective. It’s just a free roam Warzone.” Others, though, made counterpoints: “All missions are completely pointless. Winning BR is pointless. Camos are pointless. Video games are pointless. This post is pointless. But hey, if you have fun doing any of the above get after it and enjoy!” Players motivated by more tangible rewards can always read up on the every reward found within DMZ, and the full list of rewards awaiting inside Building 21.

Warzone 2 fans are desperate for iconic Assault Rifle to make its return – Dexerto
Warzone 2 fans are desperate for iconic Assault Rifle to make its return ActivisionWarzone 2 players have chosen which Call of Duty gun they’d like to see brought back, and amongst the many answers given the G36C assault rifle proved the most popular. Throughout its long history Call of Duty has had its fair share of iconic guns that fans have come to love. The developers know this too regularly playing off of nostalgia like with the FJX Imperium being based on the Intervention. There’s even been leaks that CoD 2023 will be titled Modern Warfare 3 and reintroduce a variety of fan-favorite classic maps. It wouldn’t be too surprising given that Modern Warfare 2 has already brought back the likes of Dome and Showdown. However, there’s one iconic assault rifle that has yet to be added and Warzone 2 players want it and its entire platform to make a return. Warzone 2 players name G36C as gun they want brought back When discussing what gun should make its return to CoD a range of answers were given. However, none were as popular as the G36C which looks to be the Assault Rifle that Call of Duty fans want back more than anything else. The most upvoted response on the thread asking what gun fans want to return simply responded “G36C,” while another user stated that they’d “love to see the G36 family,” make an appearance. Another similarly minded fan replied: “G36 (but the assault version not the LMG one). So like a G36K or G36C.” The G36 appeared on several lists where fans described everything they’d like to see. One particularly detailed list read: “HK G36, HK416, M27 IAR, HK417, M249, M240B, M60, PP2000, FN FAL, FN Five-seven, L85, Howa Type 64, Type 89,” with them later saying that the G36 would be their first choice. The G36 platform made its last appearance on Modern Warfare (2019) as the Holger-26. That was based on the LMG conversion of the G36 with the assault rifle not featuring in CoD multiplayer since the original Modern Warfare 3, released in 2011. While the G36 was a popular choice it wasn’t the only gun to appear several times. Fans were also eager for the FAL, FAMAS, Kar98k, Grau, Dragunov, Odin, and Uzi to be added to both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.

Warzone 2 exploit lets players hide in walls while being unkillable – Dexerto
Warzone 2 exploit lets players hide in walls while being unkillable ActivisionA bizarre oversight in Warzone’s 2 Al Mazrah map design is allowing players to climb into walls and hunt their victims from absolute safety. Warzone 2 has seen its share of glitches and exploits by now, from the bizarre glitch that let players skip Gulag to DMZ and WZ2 trick that lets you enter locked areas easily. However, a new exploit allows players to hide within certain walls and kill players from absolute safety similar to players getting under the Airport in Verdansk and Chemical Engineering building on Rebirth Island. Right now there are at least two places in Al Mazrah where players can crawl into walls. One is within Fortress, which is not that problematic as it’s very niche for large firefights to happen there. The other place, though, is a building that is featured all over Al Mazrah City. The similar layout of other buildings in the area means that the exploit can likely be replicated in those two, making it pretty problematic if players decide to abuse the exploit. Bizarre Warzone 2 glitch allows players to fire from inside walls The glitched spots had been discovered roughly a month ago with a number of YouTube channels uploading videos showing players how to take advantage of them. Naturally, these clips have spread around the CoD community and they’ve evolved from niche factoids to common knowledge, thus popping up more and more in public matches. The Birdseye advanced UAV issue is also still present in the game. Although that could be a feature, players are still unsure as the devs have yet to shed any light on it. Hopefully, the developers squish that bug fast so we can drop into Al Mazrah free of people living in the walls.

Warzone 2 exploit brings back Superman flying movement from Advanced Warfare – Dexerto
Warzone 2 exploit brings back Superman flying movement from Advanced Warfare A crazy exploit transforming players into superheroes resurfaced in Warzone 2 after first appearing in Advanced Warfare. MW2 has suffered its fair share of game-breaking glitches, and Warzone 2 dealt with similar issues during a rocky launch. Most recently, players blasted an “atrocious” invisible wall bug on Shoot House, which made the map unplayable. Besides glitches, exploits are nothing new for CoD. Slide Cancelling unintentionally became an essential movement mechanic in Warzone and previous titles. Players always try and find new and inventive ways to make movement easier. Taking things to an entirely new level, a Warzone 2 player unearthed the “Superman” glitch, which first reared its ugly head during Advanced Warfare. Warzone 2 player exposes “Superman” MW2 exploit Warzone 2 player Wuqi posted a video showing off insane movement on Al Mazrah. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what they are doing, but certain elements on the map appear to allow you to bounce off of them while diving in the air. Dolphin diving may also impact the ability to pull off the amusing exploit, but we don’t know for sure. In one of the clips, they flew for an absurdly long period, mimicking something straight out of a superhero movie. One player responded, “slide canceling was so Warzone 1, we got the Superman.” A second user added, “That’s some crazy Saints Row 4 s**t right there, with the way he just zooms around.” Several community members pointed out pacing issues with Warzone 2, possibly linked to the game’s slower movement speed. However, flying around like Superman theoretically solves some of those issues. We will provide an update if Activision addresses the issue, but for now, feel free to put on a cape and soar through the skies Al Mazrah.

Warzone 2 experts unveil “OP” sniper that’s so good it’ll be nerfed – Dexerto
Warzone 2 experts unveil “OP” sniper that’s so good it’ll be nerfed ActivisionWarzone 2 experts have highlighted an “overpowered” sniper that, with the help of a bug, is finishing enemies in just one-shot. Though, it could be nerfed before long. Snipers have always had a key part to play in Warzone. In the early days of Verdansk, it was pivotal that you had a sniper if you wanted to win. Then, it became all about the Kar98K and its deadly combination of speed and power. In Warzone 2, snipers did go on the backburner early on. They weren’t as deadly as their Warzone 1 counterparts, but could still be the difference. The long-range weapons were brought back to prominence with the re-introduction of one-shot kills – that could only be achieved by using incendiary rounds. They’ve been toned down a bit in recent weeks, and outright removed from Ranked play. However, several Warzone experts have found an “overpowered” setup for the SP-X 80 that allows it to one-shot once again. Overpowered SP-X 80 loadout for Warzone 2 Season 4 That’s right, both Metaphor and FaZe Testy have highlighted the SP-X 80 for being pretty powerful thanks to a bug with its incendiary rounds giving it one-shot capabilities. “This is definitely a good weapon to go for right now because they’re definitely going to be patching this,” Metaphor said, adding that it’s “overpowered” until the devs decide to take a look at it. Both setups are pretty similar. They both run the .300 incendiary rounds, Schlager Match rear grip, and the FSS OLE-V Laser. Though, there are some differences with the barrel and stocks. Barrel: 22.5’ Elevate-11 – Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser – Ammunition: .300 Incendiary – Stock: Max DMR Precision – Rear Grip: Schlager Match – As of yet, these setups haven’t propelled the SP-X 80 into the meta. According to WZRanked stats, the sniper is still on the fringes of things and sits as the 35th most-used gun overall. It remains to be seen if it’ll skyrocket at some point, and if that will happen before the devs nerf it. Some other players disagree on it being so OP, claiming the MCPR-3000 is still the go-to. Though, we’ll have to wait and see.

Warzone 2 expert’s SP-X 80 loadout brings iconic Kar98K to Al Mazrah – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert’s SP-X 80 loadout brings iconic Kar98K to Al Mazrah ActivisonWarzone 2 guru IceManIsaac has unveiled an SP-X 80 loadout that recreates the iconic and powerful Kar98k from the original game, bringing it to Al Mazrah. Picking out a meta sniper in Warzone 2 can be a tough task as some players prefer rifles that are packed with raw fire firepower, whereas others want a long-range gun with plenty of mobility and quick ADS times. Although this all comes down to preference, the lack of one-shot kills to the head in Warzone 2 means there’s less of a reason to kit out snipers purely for damage. As a result, IceManIsaac has taken the already strong SP-X 80 and attempted to recreate the iconic Kar98k from the original Warzone. Equipped with lethal damage and an impressive level of maneuverability, this hard-carry sniper loadout is well-worth taking into Al Mazrah. Best SP-X 80 loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser – Optic: Forge Tac Delta 4 – Stock: Max DMR Precision – Rear Grip: Schlager Match Grip – Ammunition: .300 High Velocity – For IceManIsaac, this SP-X 80 setup has allowed him to fall in “love” with sniping again in Warzone 2, and it’s no surprise given how strong it is on Al Mazrah. Instead of kitting out the weapon for raw power, the WZ2 expert has created a sniper loadout that snaps onto foes with an unbelievable ADS time. This makes it perfect for picking off opponents at medium range and IceManIsaac even compared the loadout to the Kar98k from the original Warzone. Claiming the SP-X 80 is his “favorite” weapon in the current meta, this setup caters to aggressive players who always want to stay on the front foot. While this gun will require two shots on an opponent to take them down, it’s easy to land consecutive bullets thanks to its brilliant mobility. We recommend running Weapon Specialist for the Overkill perk, that way you can wield a sniper support secondary. The Minibak and the Fennec 45 are both solid meta choices. So, don’t hesitate to test out this setup in your matches, it has the potential to takeover matches in the hands of a sharpshooter.

Warzone 2 experts reveals “dominant” Kastov 762 build with fastest TTK – Dexerto
Warzone 2 experts reveals “dominant” Kastov 762 build with fastest TTK ActivisionWarzone 2 expert and YouTuber WhosImmortal has shared his go-to Kastov 762 build for Season One Reloaded, which boasts the “best time-to-kill” of any assault rifle in the battle royale. Warzone 2’s meta is constantly evolving and changing based on developer balancing and the player base’s habits. Right now, weapons like the Fennec and RPK have rise to the top of their respective classes. The former dominates in terms of SMGs, while the RPK can shred enemy armor at long-ranges. Assault rifles have been a little harder to measure. However, as we approach Season Two of the Modern Warfare 2 life-cycle, YouTuber and statistician WhosImmortal has pinpointed the Kastov 762 as the strongest option in the weapon class. Warzone 2 Kastov 762 loadout with “best TTK” Outlining the weapon build in a December 30 video, he explained that it’s currently “dominant” and boasts by far the quickest time-to-kill of any AR. “As far as the best TTK is concerned,” he said, “the M4 is competitive through the first 20 meters and then this is the Kastov 762 show through and through… The 762 is just dominant. Past 45 meters, it is just so much better than every other rifle when it comes down to the pure TTK.” It’s worth nothing that the Kastov 762 is too slow and bulky to rely on at close ranges but, in terms of medium to longer range gunfights, there’s no better option for Warzone 2 players. WhosImmortal also outlined his specific build of the gun, utilizing attachments for damage and range rather than handling and speed. Muzzle: Kastovia DX90 – Barrel: KAS-10 584mm Barrel – Underbarrel: Phase-3 Grip – Magazine: 40 Round Mag – Optic: AIM OP-V4 – As the YouTuber pointed out, players will need a close-range secondary. Right now, there’s no better choice than the Fennec, but the call is ultimately yours. With the Kastov 762 occupying your primary slot, you’ll be able to compete with any enemy further afield.

Warzone 2 expert’s Lachmann 556 loadout brings iconic Grau to Al Mazrah – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert’s Lachmann 556 loadout brings iconic Grau to Al Mazrah ActivisionWarzone 2 veteran Metaphor has unveiled a new Lachmann 556 build which he claims comes close to replicating the feel of the iconic Warzone 1’s Grau assault rifle. With the release of Warzone 2, many Warzone 1 weapons didn’t transition over in the process. One of these was the Grau rifle, which dominated the WZ1 meta from the day it was added to the game. However, thanks to the intricate class customization in Warzone 2, content creators and fans are able to replicate the feel of these old classic guns. While these “replicas” are nowhere near the “meta loadouts” that win you games in terms of power, it’s still fun to play around with them and imagine the “what if’s” regarding the balance of Warzone 2. Metaphor, an expert Warzone 2 content creator, recreated Warzone 1’s Grau in Warzone 2 using the Lachmann 556 as his template. His January 10 video details how he achieved this build. Warzone 2 Lachmann 556 loadout that “feels” like Grau “I’m not gonna lie, back in the day I was trying to use it a bit, however, the gun doesn’t do that much damage,” he said. “For this gameplay, we went left side here with our gun.” The content creator then explained the comparison to the Grau in one of the comments under the video, stating: “I’m only saying it cuz it has no recoil.” The full customization is as follows: Muzzle: Komodo Heavy – Barrel: 15.9″ Lachmann Rapp Barrel – Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity – Magazine: 40 Round Mag – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – The interesting thing to note is the usage of the barrel, an attachment which Metaphor usually forgoes, but in this case, uses citing that the gun needs extra damage to compete. Ideally, players interested in trying out this build for themselves in Warzone should back up their Lachmann 556 primary with a submachine gun like the Fennec, or the X13 akimbo pistols. This might seem strange at first since Lachmann 556 itself struggles at mid to long-range combat. But the idea is that it should be used in mid-ranged fights, and then a submachine gun is better for clearing out rooms in extremely close range where ADS time matters more.

Warzone 2 expert’s 556 Icarus loadout is the ideal long-range LMG – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert’s 556 Icarus loadout is the ideal long-range LMG ActivisonThis Icarus 556 loadout from Warzone 2 expert WhosImmortal can keep up with the strongest guns in the game and provides a breath of fresh air from an otherwise stale meta. The Warzone 2 meta has largely been the same since the game launched, with LMGs ruling the roost, practically leaving no room for competition. There have been a few challengers – like the Kastov 762 & the currently-popular ISO Hemlock – but their bigger counterparts have otherwise had a chokehold on the limelight. This Icarus 556 build is more of the same in that regard, but it’s a worthy competitor and will at least break up the monotony of using the same Sakin build over and over again. Warzone 2 expert’s Icarus 556 loadout This gun has a 0.2% pickrate according to Immortal, meaning that very few people are taking advantage of this gun’s absurd long-range potential. To get the most out of it, here’s the build that he recommends players check out: Barrel: AC Coldforge 16″ Barrel – Muzzle: Echoless-80 – Underbarrel: Edge-47 Grip – Ammunition: .556 High Velocity – Optic: AIM-OP V4 – The tunings should be aimed toward increasing distance and control, so testing several combinations in the firing range is always recommended, as the necessary amount of changes will always come down to personal preference. The Optic is also a matter of comfortability, so swap in whichever sight makes you feel more comfortable handling the gun in stressful situations. A weapon this slow will likely need an SMG to back it up, so take a look at our meta weapons list to get some inspiration to pair it up with. Warzone 2 expert WhosImmortal reveals most OP weapon right now in Season 1 – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert WhosImmortal reveals most OP weapon right now in Season 1 ActivisionCoD expert WhoIsmmortal has broken down the most overpowered weapon loadout in the early Warzone 2 meta, urging players to run it during their next trip to Al Mazrah. Warzone 2 is finally here and players are frantically experimenting with all of the battle royale’s weapons to discover which is number one in these early stages. The sequel makes a number of changes to the Warzone formula, but the need for a top-tier loadout in the endgame is as strong as ever. But with so many guns in multiple different classes, it can be tough to find the ideal setup that will make you comepetive on Al Mazrah. Luckily, CoD expert WhosImmortal has found the weapon he thinks is going to dominate Warzone 2 Season 1, and has provided all the attachments needed to make it a monster. In his November 22 video, WhosImmortal revealed that he had been testing out all of Warzone 2’s many weapons, and the RPK came out on top. He claimed the LMG is “the single most dominant weapon” that Warzone 2 has to offer. “The RPK is the gun that hands-down stands out the most to me,” he explained in his video. “We’re talking great damage over range against base health, two plates and three plates – this thing’s going to fry.” He also praised the RPK’s damage per mag, thanks to the extra capacity offered by LMGs, and said the weapon is “very low recoil” compared to other meta options. Warzone 2’s guns come with far more recoil than in the original Warzone, so the RPK is ideal for making sure you’re landing your shots at long range. Check out WhosImmortal’s best RPK loadout in Warzone 2 below: WhosImmortal’s best RPK loadout in Warzone 2 Muzzle: Polarfire-S – Barrel: TAC 597 Barrel – Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40 – Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity – Optic: Schlager 3.4X – While this loadout will make the RPK extremely effective in Warzone 2, WhosImmortal recommended tuning each attachment to squeeze even more performance out of it. He adjusted the Schlager 3.4X for better ADS speed, and made it sit as far away from his eye line as possible to help with visual recoil. Next, he tuned the 7.62 High Velocity rounds for maximum range and velocity, before tweaking the Lockgrip Precision-40 for a faster walking speed and better ADS speed. He also made changes to the Polarfire-S to max out recoil smoothness, making the RPK a breeze to use. Last up, WhosImmortal tuned the TAC 597 Barrel to give the RPK the best possible range and recoil steadiness, transforming it into a “powerhouse” at mid to long range. So, if you’re looking for an easy-to-use weapon to give you the edge in Warzone 2 Season 1, consider running the RPK in your next match. Warzone 2 expert unveils ultimate TAQ-V build to “melt everyone” in Al Mazrah – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert unveils ultimate TAQ-V build to “melt everyone” in Al Mazrah ActivisionFaZe Booya, Warzone 2 expert and YouTuber, has unveiled his ultimate TAQ-V loadout that he guarantees will “melt everyone” in the CoD battle royale. Warzone 2’s meta is ever-changing and fluid. The devs’ typical buffs and nerfs, alongside prevailing playstyles, determines which weapons are the most popular at any moment. One weapon which has performed well in terms of pick rate since WZ2’s launch is the TAQ-V. A battle rifle in Modern Warfare 2, it possesses high damage and excellent range, even if its handling and magazine size hold it back somewhat. Now, FaZe Clan’s Booya has unveiled what he believes is the “best” TAQ-V build. Booya TAQ-V Warzone 2 loadout that “melts everyone” Outlining his loadout in a January 14 YouTube video, he explained that, alongside an SMG (like the Fennec), there’s not really a better choice to dominate mid range gunfights right now. “I’ve tried a lot of people’s TAQ-Vs,” he said, “and believe me this is the best TAQ-V class. Once you try this one you won’t have to try anything else… This is just by far the best one in my opinion. This thing absolutely beams. It’s got a super fast time-to-kill… it just hits like a tank.” The specific loadout is detailed in full below: Barrel: 18” Precision-6 Barrel (max tuning for recoil steadiness and damage range) – Muzzle: Lockshot KT85 (max tuning for recoil stabilization and gun kick control) – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 (max tuning for recoil stabilization and aiming idle stability) – Magazine: 50 Round Drum – Rear Grip: FSS Combat Grip (max tuning for recoil steadiness and aiming idle stability) – Without an optic, players may have slight difficulties locking in on enemies at really long distances. Other than that, there’s no real downsides to this TAQ-V build, with Booya’s chosen attachments combatting the recoil and lack of ammo. Drop in with a strong SMG of your choice and you’ll be well on your way to securing those Warzone 2 victories.

Warzone 2 expert unveils the Kastov 762 loadout that got him into the top 250 of ranked – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert unveils the Kastov 762 loadout that got him into the top 250 of ranked Metaphor has revealed a loadout for Kastov 762 that the YouTuber said helped him break into the top 250 of the ranked mode of Warzone 2. Warzone 2’s Season 3 Reloaded brought a variety of balance changes that changed up the game’s meta and shook up which guns players reach for in a lot of situations. Coupled with the addition of ranked play to Warzone 2, this pushed many players to re-evaluate their favorite loadouts. Metaphor showcased a great build for the Kastov 762 in his May 14 video that in Immortal’s own words: “This is the build that I have been running a lot lately, I have been also running people over completely in ranked with the AK. I’m nearly top 250 in the entire world and this AK is my go-to.” Metaphor’s Kastov 762 loadout in Warzone 2 Metaphor explained that his Kastov 762 loadout makes the weapon very powerful for medium and long ranges with fast terrifying TTK, great accuracy, and good magazine size for solo ranked. To help him achieve that the content creator outfitted the gun with attachments specializing in furthering the Kastov’s range, accuracy, and recoil. The build comes with the usual problems of an assault rifle of this type, as it can lose close-range fights to a lot of the meta SMGs. So ideally it is best to bring up a secondary that excels in those circumstances. Attachments Muzzle: Sakin Thread-40 – Barrel: IG-K30 406MM – Underbarrel: Edge-47 Grip – Magazine: 40 Round Mag – Optic: SZ Recharge-DX – This assault rifle is perfect for most common situations at medium ranges thanks to its rapid TTK and its headshot damage multiplier which will make short work of your enemies. This comes at a cost of some mobility and rather slow sprint-to-fire speed. With that in mind, you’ll want either an SMG like the meta-dominating Vaznev-9K or a shotgun to cover close range where this particular loadout struggles to keep up with some of the more popular options.

Warzone 2 expert unveils secondary with faster TTK than Fennec – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert unveils secondary with faster TTK than Fennec ActivisonWarzone 2 guru JGOD has broken down the stats for a “cheese” secondary that has a faster TTK than the Fennec at close quarters. When it comes to picking a primary weapon in Warzone 2’s current meta, a number of guns stand out from the crowd as top-tier. These are the RPK, Fennec 45, M4, and TAQ-56 just to name a few, but when it comes to secondaries, a lot of players are left confused. While running Weapon Specialist gives you access to Overkill and a second primary, sometimes your loadout is more well-rounded with a different perk package. Luckily, JGOD has presented a secondary Handgun that “deletes” enemies quicker than the Fennec at close range, and it’s definitely worth using on Al Mazrah. Best Basilisk Warzone 2 loadout Attachments Barrel: 10.5″ FTAC Arrow – Trigger Action: Bryson Match Grade – Ammunition: .500 Snake Shot – Loader: S40 Rapid Loader – Rear Grip: Bryson WD-85 Grip – After seeing teeshtv and ShadedStep talking about the Basilisk as a top-tier secondary, JGOD decided to check out the weapon and break down the stats. According to the expert, the Basilisk can two-shot kill at the first damage range, making it extremely potent in enclosed spaces or if you’re rushing a building. Not only that, the Basilisk actually “deletes over 100ms faster than the Fennec”, which is impressive considering the SMG has one of the strongest TTKs in the game. The build above effectively transforms the handgun into a mini-shotgun thanks to the .500 Snake Shot which allows the weapon to shoot eight pellets at a time. While the damage of the Basilisk falls off significantly if you’re not up close, it’s ideal for finishing off opponents during intense skirmishes. For JGOD, it’s a “cheese” secondary that has its place in an aggressive loadout, especially for those who aren’t afraid of putting pressure on their opponents.

Warzone 2 expert unveils rifle loadout that is better than meta RPK – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert unveils rifle loadout that is better than meta RPK ActivisonWarzone 2 guru IceManIsaac has discovered a Battle Rifle loadout that’s “significantly better” than the meta RPK on Al Mazrah. Since the release of Warzone 2, the RPK has become immensely popular with a staggering 20.9% overall pick rate according to WZRanked. The LMG’s lethal firepower, huge magazine size, and effectiveness at long-range make it perfect for racking up countless kills. Despite this, there are strong options that can contest the RPK and IceManIsaac believes he’s found a gun that’s potentially “better”. With a faster TTK, quicker reload speed, and recoil that’s easier to control, IceManIsaac’s choice may replace your RPK loadout altogether. Best TAQ-V loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity – Muzzle: Bore-490 – Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip – Optic: Aim OP-V4 – Magazine: 50-Round Drum – For IceManIsaac, the TAQ-V Battle Rifle is his new “go-to” weapon in Warzone 2, replacing the RPK at the top spot. Going over the stats, the YouTuber showcases that the Battle Rifle has a significantly faster TTK, especially when it comes to headshots with the TAQ-V killing 185ms quicker up to 40m. Not only that, Isaac demonstrates the recoil pattern of both guns and the TAQ-V’s bullet spread is almost completely straight. This makes the weapon incredibly easy to control at long range, allowing you to beam enemies from afar. The loadout above aims to maximize the TAQ-V’s bullet velocity and damage, while also bolstering the rifle’s recoil. Topic starts at 0:56 Keep in mind, the RPK has a mag size of 70 rounds compared to the TAQ-V’s 50, so the Battle Rifle is less forgiving for those that miss a lot of shots. However, when it comes to reloading time, the TAQ-V is nearly 1.5 seconds quicker, making it simple to duck into cover and change your mag during intense skirmishes. So, if you’re growing tired of using the RPK every single match, test out the TAQ-V and see if it replaces the RPK on your loadout list for good.

Warzone 2 expert unveils RAAL LMG build that’s “unmatched” at long ranges – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert unveils RAAL LMG build that’s “unmatched” at long ranges ActivisonWarzone 2 content creator WhosImmortal has revealed an updated RAAL loadout, which has “nuts” long-range time to kill in Season One Reloaded. Another update brings yet another shakeup in the already quickly changing meta of Warzone 2. Creators have been delving into the stats behind the game’s weapon pool to determine which are the best for different scenarios. While the most meta LMG to this point has been the RPK, the RAAL LMG more than holds its own. Its incredible drum-like audio may inform enemies of a user’s location, it’s by far the fastest killing weapon at long ranges. “Unmatched” TTK RAAL LMG loadout for Warzone 2 In his December 31 YouTube video, the content creator revealed all the attachments that are part of this extremely efficient loadout for the RAAL, claiming it becomes “unmatched” in distant gunfights. “When it comes to long-range, just like in multiplayer, this thing is unmatched,” he said. “You heard the other TTK stats for close-range and mid-range. How about at 80 meters this thing having 607 ms TTK.” Naturally, that depends on players being able to lay down accurate fire. However, the RAAL’s kick is certainly more manageable that some other LMGs (like the Icarus), so players shouldn’t have too many issues once they’re used to the weapon. Timestamp – 6:47 The full customization is as follows: Muzzle: Nilsound 90 – Underbarrel: XRK Dune Grip – Barrel: 21″ EXF Rhino – Optic: Aim OP-V4 – Rear Grip: Stip-40 Grip – Ideally, players interested in trying out this build for themselves in Warzone should back up their RAAL primary with a submachine gun, like the Fennec, or the X13 akimbo pistols. This will ensure they’re covered at close ranges where you will need something that has much faster aim down sight speed than the bulky RAAL.

Warzone 2 expert unveils OP shotgun loadout with “destructive two-shot kill” – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert unveils OP shotgun loadout with “destructive two-shot kill” ActivisonWarzone 2 guru JGOD has revealed a “broken” shotgun loadout that devastates enemies at close quarters with its “destructive two-shot kill”. When it comes to the close-range meta in Warzone 2, the majority of players gravitate toward the game’s array of SMGs. Whether it’s the Fennec 45, Lachmann Sub, or the Vaznev-9k, they all provide impressive mobility and solid damage output. However, if you’re looking for the best TTK at close quarters, it may be time to switch to the shotgun category and check out a brand-new weapon that arrived in Season 2. According to JGOD, this weapon is “broken” and its “destructive two-shot kill” is OP in the current meta, but you’ll need the perfect loadout to maximize its firepower. Best KV Broadside loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Muzzle: Gunner D20 – Stock: VLK Stockless – Bolt: Dashbolt 60 – Ammunition: 2 Gauge Dragon’s Breath – Magazine: 25 Shell Drum – JGOD begins by mentioning that he doesn’t cover shotguns very often as they’re rarely part of the meta, but this time the KV Broadside has quickly established itself as a “broken” weapon. Although he says it’s likely to get nerfed soon, the YouTuber reveals that at the moment, the shotgun has a “destructive two-shot kill”. This is mainly down to the 2 Gauge Dragon’s Breath ammunition which gives this gun unmatched firepower at close quarters. With one of the fastest TTKs in Warzone 2, the KV Broadside is a brilliant secondary if you’re running Overkill. Topic starts at 3:12 While JGOD makes it very clear this is a “cheese” weapon that takes very little skill, it’s ideal for aggressive pushes into enclosed spaces like buildings. It is essential you run Overkill though, as this shotgun only performs up close and loses all of its power at medium to long range.

Warzone 2 expert unveils “off-meta” Marksman Rifle that dominates at long range – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert unveils “off-meta” Marksman Rifle that dominates at long range ActivisonWarzone 2 guru WhosImmortal has revealed an “off-meta” Marksman Rifle with a deadly TTK that’s getting overlooked by the community. In Warzone 2’s current meta, weapons like the Sakin MG38, RAAL MG, and ISO Hemlock stand out as the number-one picks for long-range combat. As a result of their overwhelming popularity and power, options from the Marksman Rifle category often get tossed to the wayside. This is because they require a lot of precision to use effectively and can be extremely unforgiving if you miss your shots. However, if you’re willing to put in the time to master them, they can be unbelievably strong. Recognizing this, Warzone 2 guru WhosImmortal has uncovered a “super competitive” Marksman Rifle that’s being slept on by the community. Best EBR-14 loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Barrel: 22″ Boremaster Barrel – Muzzle: Polarfire-S – Optic: Schalger 3.4x – Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity – Magazine: 20-Round Mag – With a “consistent” TTK of two to four shots depending on the distance from the target, the EBR-14 has a devastating TTK in the hands of a sharpshooter. Unlike an LMG, the semi-automatic fire makes it easier to land critical headshots and maximize your damage output from a distance. This is incredibly easy with the Schalger 3.4x which allows you to lock onto foes and the addition of the 20-Round Mag means you’ll have plenty of ammo to take down foes. The build above looks to push the gun’s damage and bullet velocity to the limit, while also bolstering the rifle’s recoil pattern. In terms of pick rate, the EBR-14 is sitting at an extremely low 0.3%, meaning barely any players are making use of the underrated rifle’s potential. So, if you’re a fan of using weapons that are going under the radar in the current meta, the EBR is definitely the option for you, especially if you’re bored of using LMGs at long range.

Warzone 2 expert unveils “no-recoil” SMG build being ignored in Season One meta – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert unveils “no-recoil” SMG build being ignored in Season One meta ActivisonWarzone 2 expert and content creator Metaphor has outlined his “no recoil” build of the Minibak SMG from Modern Warfare 2, claiming it’s seriously underused in the CoD battle royale. The launch of Warzone 2.0 has, unsurprisingly, left players scrambling to find the strongest and most meta guns in the sequel BR. While players continue to gravitate towards the M4, TAQ-56 and Fennec 45, plenty of fans are exploring less-picked options to find underappreciated gems. According to YouTuber Metaphor, there’s one Modern Warfare 2 submachine gun that is eminently usable, despite sitting at a modest pick rate of 0.85%. Metaphor reveals “no recoil” Minibak loadout for Warzone 2 Season 1 In a December 3 YouTube video, he outlined how best to use the Minibak to make the most of its solid range, strong accuracy and huge default magazines. “This gun is actually being slept-on big time,” he said. “This Minibak, I tried it for two or three games and I fried every game with it. This thing is surprisingly really good and it has one of the best features from the other games [it’s been in]. The Minibak has that extra magazine size so you basically get a free attachment.” Metaphor specifically pinpointed the FTAC Castle Comp key attachment to eliminate any recoil, weighing down the front of the weapon to minimize kick. His full recommended loadout is detailed below: Muzzle: FTAC Castle Comp – Ammo: 9mm Overpressured – Rear Grip: True-TAC Grip – Stock: Otrezat Stock – Laser: FTAC Grimline Laser – The chosen build looks to capitalize on the Minibak’s speed and handling, meaning it can compete at close and medium ranges. Its damage isn’t the best but it’s versatility comes from its magazine size and accuracy. Players will need a longer-range option in their back pocket – probably an assault rifle or sniper rifle depending on their confidence – but the Minibak as a primary will have players covered against any nearby enemies.

Warzone 2 expert unveils new “number one SMG” after Season 2 Reloaded buffs – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert unveils new “number one SMG” after Season 2 Reloaded buffs ActivisonWarzone 2 guru WhosImmortal has revealed the new “number one SMG” following the Season 2 Reloaded patch, dethroning the Lachmann Sub. Warzone 2’s Season 2 Reloaded patch dropped on March 16 and alongside introducing a huge amount of new content, the update completely shifted the meta. One category was reshuffled more than the rest and that was the SMGs, with the extremely popular Lachmann getting hit with a heavy set of nerfs. These changes have opened the door to other SMGs and one, in particular, is grappling for the top spot after being buffed in Season 2 Reloaded. According to WhosImmortal, this new contender is now the “number one” SMG and destroys foes with ease at close quarters. Best VEL-46 loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Muzzle: Lockshot KT85 – Underbarrel: XTEN Drop Grip – Laser: VLK LZR 7MW – Rear Grip: Schalger Soldier Grip – Stock: Demo RXT Stock – For WhosImmortal the VEL-46 or “MP7 was already great and they’ve just made it even better with Season 2 Reloaded,” giving it the power to compete with the other “top-tier” options. The buff increased the SMG’s effective damage range, making it more reliable at close quarters and even mid-range. Now, the gun has a brilliant TTK, top-tier mobility, and is incredibly reliable thanks to its range, so it’s definitely an option you need to start running. WhosImmortal’s build focuses on pushing the VEL’s damage to the max while also providing you with plenty of movement speed for aggressive plays, and stability to ensure you land every single bullet. When it comes to pick rate, the VEL-46 is currently at around 5% which may sound like a lot, but it still trails behind the Lachmann Sub and Vaznev-9k. If you want to be ahead of the curve, start running this “top-tier” SMG now before the rest of the community catches on and the gun takes over the meta.

Warzone 2 expert unveils “most underrated” AR for dominating Al Mazrah – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert unveils “most underrated” AR for dominating Al Mazrah ActivisonWarzone 2 guru WhosImmortal has identified the “most underrated” AR on Al Mazrah for dominating foes at long range. In Warzone 2’s current meta, the RPK, TAQ-56, and M4 are the go-to picks for the majority of players if they’re looking to laser beam foes from a distance. While all of these guns are undeniably strong, their popularity often leads the community to overlook other powerful underused options. These weapons are considered underrated or off-meta, as their pick rate is extremely low, but they can still hold their own against the best loadouts. Well, Warzone 2 expert WhosImmortal believes he’s found the “most underrated” AR that’s got a steady recoil pattern and a devastating TTK at long-range. Best M13B Warzone 2 loadout Attachments Barrel: 14″ Bruen Echelon – Muzzle: Echoless-80 – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 – Optic: Aim-OP V4 – Magazine: 60-Round Mag – For WhosImmortal, the “most underrated” AR in Warzone 2 is the M13B as it has the “second best TTK over long-range” on Al Mazrah, only sitting behind the Kastov 762 which is a lot more difficult to control. This makes the gun ideal for laser-beaming foes and an “actual beast” with the loadout above, as it adds an extra level of stability to the weapon, while also maximizing its damage. Another positive is that the M13B is incredibly easy to use, making it perfect for players who struggle to control the kickback of guns in Warzone 2. As the AR can struggle to compete up close and at mid-range, we do recommend running Weapon Specialist so you can equip a meta SMG as your secondary. Topic starts at 7:22 According to WZRanked, the M13B has a relatively low pick rate of just 0.5% and considering how much potential this weapon has, it’s certainly underrated. So, if you’re bored of using the RPK and TAQ-56, consider equipping the M13B and surprising your foes with an underused gun that’s rarely seen on Al Mazrah.

Warzone 2 expert unveils long-range laser beam AR that no one uses – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert unveils long-range laser beam AR that no one uses ActivisionWarzone 2 guru WhosImmortal has revealed an underused AR that’s a laser beam and is incredibly “easy to use” at long-range. When it comes to picking a long-range weapon in Warzone 2, the majority of players focus on picking an option with the fastest TTK. In Season 2 Reloaded, the Sakin MG38 and RAAL MG without a doubt share the crown when it comes to raw damage output, and are lethal from a distance. However, as they’re LMGs, they’re plagued with sluggish mobility and are difficult to use thanks to their heavy recoil patterns. These factors mean sometimes it’s better to choose a gun that’s easy to use, stable, and consistent, especially if you’re an inexperienced player. Well, Warzone 2 expert WhosImmortal has uncovered the perfect long-range AR that’s a laser beam at almost any distance and could be the weapon that takes your gameplay to the next level. Best M13B loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Barrel: 14″ Bruen Echelon – Muzzle: Echoless-80 – Optic: Aim OP-V4 – Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity – Magazine: 60-Round Mag – In a video covering the new long-range meta in Warzone 2, WhosImmortal highlighted multiple options but the M13B stood out from the rest. Despite not having the fastest TTK of the bunch, the WZ2 expert made it very clear that the gun is extremely “easy to use” and a laser from afar. As the “recoil is so straightforward” it makes it possible to shoot accurately at “40m, 80m, 180m, it doesn’t matter” the gun will always perform. The loadout above focuses on bolstering the AR’s recoil and pushing its damage to the limits, giving you a loadout that’s unbelievably consistent. Topic starts at 6:49 Sometimes it’s better to focus on stability over raw damage output, as easy-to-use loadouts allow you to shine in high-pressure situations. With just a 1.1% pick rate, the M13B is going under the radar and has been forgotten by the majority of the community. Instead of going for the ISO Hemlock or Sakin MG38, test out this simple option as it could be the gun that significantly increases your win rate.

Warzone 2 expert unveils “laser” M4 loadout that locks onto enemies – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert unveils “laser” M4 loadout that locks onto enemies ActivisionWarzone guru Metaphor has created a “low recoil” M4 build that’s extremely “easy to use”, allowing it to lock onto opponents and wipe them off Al Mazrah in milliseconds. When creating a loadout in Warzone 2, most players strictly focus on maximizing damage output and TTK. While this is a crucial factor when designing a top-tier build, too much emphasis on raw firepower can make a gun incredibly difficult to control. As a result, it’s often better to bolster a weapon’s recoil and focus on landing as many bullets as possible, especially if you’re struggling to rack up kills. Well, Warzone 2 expert Metaphor may have the perfect solution, with an M4 loadout that’s custom-made to “laser” beam foes. Best “Low recoil” M4 loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Optic: Cronen Min – Muzzle: Komodo Heavy – Barrel: Hightower 20″ Barrel – Stock: Corio Precio Factory – Magazine: 45-Round Mag – Instead of creating an M4 build with the best TTK, Metaphor decided to create a “laser” beam loadout for the AR that’s most effective at medium range. This setup is not only “fun”, but it’s incredibly “easy to use” as the minimal kickback makes it simple to lock onto foes and land every single shot. Metaphor does note that the class’s one flaw is that it struggles at long-range when compared to a typical TTK setup. However, it has more than enough firepower to dispatch foes at mid-range and even close quarters. Keep in mind, this loadout is not made for rushing buildings or making ultra-aggressive plays, it’ll require you to take a more measured approach and wait for the best opportunity to laser your enemies down. In terms of perk packages, we recommend running Weapon Specialist so you can make use of Overkill. The second primary will make this setup significantly more versatile and allow you to dominate opponents at any range. So, if you struggle to control recoil, don’t hesitate to take this class into Al Mazrah as it’s guaranteed to help you rack up more kills.

Warzone 2 expert unveils “insane” XMR build with very underrated attachment – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert unveils “insane” XMR build with very underrated attachment ActivisionWarzone 2 expert Metaphor has showcased an “insane” XMR build that utilizes one very specific and severely underrated attachment. The Victus XMR remains one of the less popular picks from the sniper rifle category. The meta seems to be favoring the SP-X 80 and Singal 50 instead. Despite this, certain players and content creators were able to draw out its full potential with some rather creative builds. One such build was featured by Metaphor in his January 24 video. The standout part of this loadout is the range finder attachment which is rarely seen in-game. Metaphor himself initially struggled with the range finder scope as he could not figure out how to actually turn on the range finder, and assumed it was simply bugged. Warzone 2 “insane” Victus XMR loadout “We did set up our sniper today for long-range sniping and kind of, more, relaxed sniping,” said Metaphor while describing his time with the range finder Victus. He then added: “You guys are going to enjoy this if you guys enjoy sniping in general. And just like, the long-range sniping.” The full customization is as follows: Muzzle: Bruen Counter-Ops – Barrel: Mack 8 33.5 Super – Ammunition: .50 Cal High Velocity – Optic: Raptor-FVM40 – Stock: FTAC Homeland – Metaphor described the build as being oriented around very high distance sniping, with maximum possible stability for the XMR. When it comes to your second weapon slot, you ought to pick up something that will give you the edge in close-quarter fights, so the ever-dominant Fennec is probably the safest option to fill that slot.

Warzone 2 expert unveils “fastest TTK” SMG build to counter OP KV Broadside – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert unveils “fastest TTK” SMG build to counter OP KV Broadside ActivisonWarzone 2 expert IceManIsaac has created a specific top-tier SMG loadout to counter the OP KV Broadside shotgun that’s taken over the close-quarter meta. In Warzone 2’s long-range meta, the ISO Hemlock and Sakin MG38 are the dominant picks, but when it comes to close-quarters, the KV Broadside shotgun has completely taken over the meta. With an astonishing 17.8% pick rate according to WZRanked, it’s impossible to dive down into Al Mazrah and not run into the powerful shotgun. The gun’s devastating TTK and impressive mobility make it extremely frustrating to play against, but one Warzone 2 expert believes they’ve found a counter. Looking to provide a solution to the KV Broadside’s broken TTK, IceManIsaac decided to create an SMG loadout built to counter the popular shotgun. Best Lachmann Sub loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Muzzle: Lacerta Compensator – Underbarrel: Phase-3 Grip – Magazine: 40-Round Mag – Stock: LM Stockless MOD – Rear Grip: Lachmann TCG-10 – IceManIsaac was getting tired of running into the “dominant” KV Broadside in Warzone 2 and decided to create a Lachmann Sub loadout to counter the shotgun. The build completely focuses on giving you the “max speed” and mobility to outplay any foes camping in a corner with the KV Broadside. IceManIsaac has found the perfect balance between minimal recoil and top-tier mobility, providing you with an SMG that can take over Al Mazrah or Ashika Island. Not only that, the Lachmann’s base damage is more than enough to give it one of the “fastest TTKs” out of any weapon in the arsenal. One of the most important aspects of countering the shotgun is the setup’s “unbelievable” ADS time, allowing you to snap onto your opponents and get the first shot off. This gives you the best chance at coming out on top in your gunfights and means you can be more accurate with your bullets, making the most of valuable headshot multipliers. So, if you’re frustrated with the KV Broadside’s OP place in the meta, test out this build and master the gun’s mobility to outplay your enemies.

Warzone 2 expert unveils classic SMG loadout that dethrones meta Fennec – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert unveils classic SMG loadout that dethrones meta Fennec ActivisionThe Fennec 45 has dominated the close-range meta in Warzone 2 ever since it launched, but streamer and YouTuber IceManIsaac has revealed a loadout for a fan-favorite SMG that’s set to shake up the category. Warzone 2 players are always on the hunt for the next meta weapon to give them an edge in each fight. There are dozens of different guns to experiment with in Al Mazrah, but not all of them have what it takes to carry you to victory. Since the battle royale sequel launched back in November, the game has been dominated by the RPK for long-range fights, while the Fennec 45 has been the main choice at short-range. This had led many players to complain that the Warzone 2 meta has become boring just months into its lifecycle. Luckily, Warzone 2 pro IceManIsaac has a loadout for the classic MP5 SMG that he thinks can knock the Fennec 45 off its perch. IceManIsaac’s best MP5 loadout in Warzone 2 The MP5 is CoD royalty and appears in Warzone 2 as the Lachmann Sub. As you’d expect, the SMG is already a popular gun, but currently sits five places behind the Fennec in the pick rate rankings according to WZ Ranked. But in an upload to his channel, IceManIsaac explained why many pro players are ditching the Fennec in favor of the MP5. “The reason being, especially with a 50 Round Mag, you have significantly more damage per mag. You can get also double the downs,” he explained, before demonstrating how it fairs at longer ranges. “One of the other nice things about the MP5 is that it has significantly better bullet velocity than the Fennec, so it feels a lot more like hitscan even with targets at a distance,” he continued, while showcasing the loadout on the firing range. Check out IceManIsaac’s Lachman Sub MP5 build below: Barrel: L38 Falcon 226mm – Laser: VLK LZR 7MW – Stock: Recoil-56 Factory Stock – Magazine: 50 Round Mag – Underbarrel: VX Pineapple – The streamer did admit that, statically, the MP5 still falls short of the Fennec when it comes to TTK at close-range. However, the difference was only around 30ms and Isaac claimed that players wouldn’t even notice the “negligible” difference. All in all, this MP5 Warzone 2 loadout offers nearly all of the stopping power of its rival, while dealing damage more consistently at mid-range, making it an ideal Sniper support or partner to the meta RPK. While the Fennec 45 is still likely to remain the most popular weapon in its class until a nerf arrives, the Lachmann Sub could easily become the first real contender to the throne ahead of Warzone 2 Season 2. Warzone 2 expert unveils “cheat code” attachment that completely removes recoil – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert unveils “cheat code” attachment that completely removes recoil ActivisonWarzone 2 guru Metaphor has highlighted a specific “cheat code” attachment that removes the recoil from weapons, making it easy to laser beam foes. Typically, when building a Warzone 2 loadout, players focus strictly on maximizing a gun’s TTK so it can wipe out enemies in an instant. While this can be effective, an overfocus on firepower can lead to a huge amount of kickback, making a weapon extremely difficult to control. As a result, sometimes it’s better to focus on bolstering a gun’s recoil and adding an extra level of stability – that way, you can land every single bullet on target. Well, Warzone 2 expert Metaphor has tested out an attachment recommended by JGOD and has claimed it’s a “cheat code” on Al Mazrah for eradicating almost all recoil on a gun. Warzone 2 underbarrel is no recoil “cheat code” While creating his next WZ2 build, Metaphor decided to test out a specific attachment JGOD recommended for reducing the recoil. The underbarrel is called the Lockgrip Precision-40 and it offers hip-fire accuracy, recoil steadiness, and aim-walking steadiness. According to Metaphor, the attachment is a “cheat code” that effectively cancels out recoil and allows you to land a “crazy” amount of shots on target. During the gameplay with the Lockgrip, the content creator managed to rack up an insane 26 kills, proving it’s definitely worth testing out on Al Mazrah. After spending a lot of time with the underbarrel, Metaphor is convinced it’s the “new meta” and will become a staple part of every build. With Season 2 on the horizon, it’ll be interesting to see whether the devs decide to nerf the Lockgrip Precision-40. Either way, make the most of this attachment while it’s still overpowered.

Warzone 2 expert unveils “beast” loadout that dominates Ashika Island – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert unveils “beast” loadout that dominates Ashika Island ActivisonWarzone 2 guru FaZe Booya has revealed the “ultimate” loadout for dominating Ashika Island and racking up countless kills. In Warzone 2’s current meta, it can be extremely difficult to pick out two powerful weapons and kit them out with the strongest attachments. This is especially true on Ashika Island, where gunfights are happening constantly, so top-tier mobility is required to traverse the map and hunt down your foes. While you could spend hours experimenting with multiple guns and setups, sometimes it’s better to let an expert do the work for you. Well, Warzone 2 guru FaZe Booya has created a “beast” Ashika Island loadout that’s custom-built for the smaller map and is guaranteed to give you an advantage over your foes. Best Ashika Island loadout in Warzone 2 ISO Hemlock Barrel: Fielder-T50 – Muzzle: Harbinger D20 – Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – Magazine: 45-Round Mag – Lachmann Sub Barrel: L38 Falcon 226mm – Laser: VLK LZR 7MW – Stock: MEER Recoil-56 Factory Stock – Rear Grip: Lachmann TCG-10 – Magazine: 50-Round Drum – When it comes to Ashika Island, versatility is key, and having a loadout that can perform at multiple distances is absolutely essential. For Booya, the best combination is the ISO Hemlock for devastating power at mid to long-range, and the Lachmann Sub for close-quarter skirmishes. These pair of weapons have an unbelievable TTK, but also have the mobility which is required for traversing Ashika Island effectively. Together, they make the “ultimate” loadout for hunting down opponents and mean every gunfight you’ll be in the best position to come out on top. In total, Booya stacked 28 kills and over 9,000 damage in the match with these weapons, proving they have the potential to take over in the hands of a skilled player. So, if you’re a fan of Ashika Island and need a set of guns that are custom-built to thrive on the smaller map, Booya’s loadout is definitely capable of taking your play to the next level.

Warzone 2 expert unveils Battle Rifle with “absurd” TTK in Season 1 Reloaded – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert unveils Battle Rifle with “absurd” TTK in Season 1 Reloaded ActivisionWarzone 2 guru WhosImmortal has unveiled a top-tier Battle Rifle that dishes out “absurd” damage output at medium range. In Warzone 2, the majority of players gravitate toward ARs and LMGs for medium to long-range gunfights. Weapons like the M4, RPK, TAQ-56, and Kastov 762 have already made a name for themselves on Al Mazrah and are perfect for racking up kills. However, the popularity of these categories is leading players to overlook Battle Rifles, which are particularly effective from afar. For WhosImmortal, there’s one Battle Rifle that deserves a lot more attention than it’s getting thanks to the gun’s “absurd” damage output, and he’s even provided a meta build. Best TAQ-V loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Optic: AIM OP-V4 – Muzzle: Kastovia DX90 – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 – Barrel: 18″ Precision-6 Barrel – Magazine: 30-Round Mag – When it comes to Battle Rifles, WhosImmortal has outlined the TAQ-V as his number one pick, even placing the weapon in his top 10 Warzone 2 loadouts. For him, the gun’s “absolutely absurd” damage output at mid-range makes it a top-tier contender that can outmatch most opponents with ease. While utilizing the TAQ-V at long distances does require the accuracy of a “higher skilled player” on account of the weapon’s recoil, its TTK makes this drawback well worth it. The build above aims to maximize the TAQ-V’s bullet velocity and damage, while also bolstering its kickback on Al Mazrah. Topic starts at 4:25 Although the TAQ-V can perform at close quarters and from a distance in the hands of a skilled player, we recommend running Weapon Specialist. This gives you access to Overkill, which allows you to run a second primary. Any meta SMG or AR would fit perfectly into this loadout, or even a sniper if you enjoy picking off enemies from afar. So, make sure to test out the TAQ-V in one of your matches if you’re looking for a devastating mid-range weapon that tears down foes in milliseconds.

Warzone 2 expert unveils a meta loadout for a 0.1% pick rate SMG – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert unveils a meta loadout for a 0.1% pick rate SMG ActivisonWarzone 2 guru WhosImmortal has unveiled a meta loadout for a completely underrated SMG in Season 2. The February 24 update continues to shape the Warzone 2’s meta as more and more weapons drift up to the surface of popularity. Fennec got hit with a hefty nerf, leaving a void for other close-range weapons to fill in. Many now point to Lachmann Sub being the best close-range weapon in the game, but some players and content creators found success with some “hidden gems.” YouTuber WhosImmortal claims that MX9 stands among the best SMGs in the game despite sitting at a depressing 0.1% pick rate, according to WZRanked. Best MX9 loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Barrel: 16.5″ Bruen S901 – Magazine: 32-Round Mag – Comb: FTAC C11 Riser – Rear Grip: Bruen Q900 Grip – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – The content creator explained that he thinks MX9 is probably the lowest recoil SMG in the game, which immediately makes it a very new player-friendly option. “MP7 and the MX9 are both not like a crazy, insane broken SMG. They are just good at being close-range options and maybe some mid-range here as well. Again, the MX9 is so easy to shoot. The recoil here is as easy as it gets when it comes to SMGs in particular,” said the content creator about the underrated SMG. The submachinegun has a rapid TTK at close range, very generous recoil, and respectable mid-range capabilities making it very versatile. The build above focuses on furthering its range while also increasing handling, which is arguably the most important SMG stat. TIMESTAMP – 2:05 For bigger squad games or higher intensity matches like Resurgence, the MX9 has a pretty big downside of being limited to 32 rounds, as there are no bigger magazines offered as alternatives. That said, you’ll still want either an AR like the meta-dominating ISO Hemlock or a sniper rifle to cover medium and long ranges where MX9 struggles.

Warzone 2 expert uncovers “weird” Armor issue making you take more damage – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert uncovers “weird” Armor issue making you take more damage ActivisionWarzone 2 expert and YouTuber TrueGameData has uncovered armor issues in the battle royale, causing players with armor to actually take more damage from enemies. Despite the initial hype and anticipation that surround Warzone 2, much of it has dissipated in the months since launch. Reports suggest the player count has dropped much faster than was expected. There have also been a host of bugs and glitches affecting the average player’s experience. Some of these have been related to damage, like a major issue uncovered by YouTuber JackFrags, who experienced multiple inexplicable deaths. Now, statistician TrueGameData has uncovered yet more bizarre damage features, this time regarding armor in Warzone 2. Warzone 2 armor can actually increase enemy damage In a January 19 YouTube video, TGD explained that reports from players and his own experiences prompted him to investigate damage in Warzone 2. As a result of an investigation into how armor affects damage, he found that some weapons – like the M4 assault rifle – actually do more damage to enemies who have armor plates equipped. His findings showed that the M4 did 18 damage per shot to enemies without armor equipped and 20 damage per shot when they had armor equipped. This was not replicated on other weapons, which performed consistently whether hitting an enemy with or without armor. TGD said: “It is just confirmation that there’s some weird things happening and this is gonna cause even more inconsistent TTK feelings than we already have.” It’s not clear which weapons are affected, but TGD theorized that it relates to some guns at some ranges, rather than being a “widespread” issue in Warzone 2. Regardless, it casts further doubt on the battle royale’s damage mechanics. TTK has been a major talking point since WZ2 launched, with plenty of players reporting that it’s too quick and feels incredibly random and inconsistent. TGD’s findings will only harden those feelings.
