Warzone 2 expert uncovers deadly rifle that’s being “slept-on” despite buff ActivisionIf you’re looking to run something a little different in Warzone 2, you may want to consider WhosImmortal’s “slept-on” SO-14 class that absolutely fries enemies – especially on Ashika Island. Over the last few weeks, the meta in Warzone 2 has undergone some significant changes, and that’s only continued with the Season 3 Reloaded update. While the new update, which brought about a huge set of weapon balancing changes, saw the ISO Hemlock rise back to the top of the pile in terms of pick rate, it has also shone a light on some of the previously underused weapons. As a result, Warzone 2 gurus like WhosImmortal have been highlighting these previously off-meta picks as being totally viable these days. And that now includes the SO-14, which is a “perfect” choice for those players who just stick to Ashika Island games. Best SO-14 loadout for Warzone 2 That’s right, the Battle Rifle – which has had a rock bottom pick rate according to WZRanked for quite some time – is actually a viable option in-game thanks to its buff in Season 3 Reloaded. Though, you do need to have it on full-auto for shots. “You put this thing on full-auto mode then you are going to shred. Especially here on Ashika Island where the guns are a lot more mid-ranged based,” the YouTuber said in his May 15 video about the gun, as he noted it’s a bit of an experimental case right now. Though, he did continue to hype it up in a big way. “A slept-on weapon that can absolutely fry in the right hands. Master the recoil, master the feel of this weapon and you are going to be set” WhosImmortal continued. Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40 – Underbarrel: Edge-47 Grip – Optic: Aim OP-V4 – Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity – Magazine: 50-Round Drum – Timestamp of 9:43 As noted, the SO-14 has hardly been used in Warzone 2, with it coming in with a 0.1% pick rate as the 55th most-used gun in the battle royale. It does have a bit of a kick with recoil, but if you give it a try, you might just find that it suits your playstyle.

Warzone 2 expert slams devs for removing solo playlist – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert slams devs for removing solo playlist ActivisionInfinity Ward removed Al Mazrah solos at the launch of Season 3, infuriating Warzone 2 expert Metaphor. Warzone 2 added Ashika Island as a new map in Season 2. The environment was originally slated to offer all squads sizes but only included quads on launch day. Players called out the developers for “lying.” Infinity Ward listened to community feedback and added solos, but it came with a catch. Ashika Island solos were initially part of a playlist rotation, which cut down its inclusion to limited intervals. The developers scrapped a rotating playlist on Ashika Island but still use the controversial system for Al Mazrah. Metaphor demands solo playlist be added back to Warzone 2 Every Wednesday, Infinity Ward updates the weekly playlist for the battle royale sequel, removing and adding different squad sizes. Warzone 2 Season 3 started on April 12, and the update removed solos from Al Mazrah. Metaphor vented his frustrations on Twitter: “Day 93716 of no solos, forced to play duos.” Infinity Ward introduced a new reporting system to MW2 and WZ2, so players can take matters into their own hands when dealing with hackers and toxic users. Unfortunately, the system has resulted in players falsely being accused of cheating. Metaphor claims he is a victim of mass reporting, preventing him from using proximity chat to communicate with his teammates. “Can’t communicate with my random teammates due to reports on my account from frankthetank88 auto muting profile and removing prox chat.” Fans in the comment section asked Metaphor why he doesn’t just play Ashika Island solos instead, to which he responded: “That would, unfortunately, mean that I’m playing Ashika Island.” Metaphor added that he likes the game “a lot,” but as someone who primarily plays solo, it’s long overdue to add solos back.

Warzone 2 expert shows off “no recoil” LMG that feels like the M4 – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert shows off “no recoil” LMG that feels like the M4 ActivisionWarzone 2 guru Metaphor has revealed a powerful, zero recoil loadout for an underrated LMG that he compared to the popular M4 Assault Rifle. There are dozens of different weapons to pick from in Warzone 2, and players are looking for the best builds to gain an advantage. Fast-firing SMGs like the Fennec 45 are ideal for close range, while versatile Assault Rifles like the TAQ-56 are great all-purpose weapons. Since fans first stepped foot in Al Mazrah, the LMG category has been dominated by the RPK, which many consider to be the best gun in the entire game right now. However, Warzone 2 expert Metaphor has unveiled a no-recoil 556 Icarus loadout that he feels could bump the overlooked LMG into the meta conversation. In an upload to his channel, Metaphor explained that the 556 Icarus, which currently only has a 0.3% pick rate on WZ Ranked, can be one of the top weapons in Warzone 2 with the right setup. “At close to mid-range, and even long-range, honestly, it’s a very good gun,” said the YouTuber. “It’s very competitive [and] it has no recoil.” He even compared it favorably to the M4 Assault Rifle, a fan-favorite Assault Rifle in Warzone 2 that is the ninth most popular gun in the game at the time of writing. “Think of it like a better M4,” he continued. “This gun, I don’t feel like [it] is off-meta, it’s just overshadowed by the RPK. You’re not going to feel behind using this gun.” Check Metaphor’s “no recoil” 556 Icarus loadout below: Metaphor’s no recoil 556 Icarus Warzone 2 loadout Muzzle: Komodo Heavy – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – Stock: Corio Precio Factory – Rear Grip: Sakin ZX Grip – Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity – As an LMG, the 556 Icarus naturally has plenty of power and a nice magazine size, so Metaphor’s build focuses on keeping the recoil in check. Running the Komodo Heavy Muzzle, Corio Precio Factory Stock, and Sakin ZX Grip removes virtually all directional recoil and makes the Icarus an absolute laser. Then he ran the 5.56 High Velocity round to ensure each shot is hitting the target in long-range fights. He also opted for the Cronen Mini Pro Optic for a clean, easy-to-use sight that still offers plenty of extra accuracy. So, if you’re looking for an alternative to the meta RPK, or an LMG that plays like a more lightweight Assault Rifle, consider running this 556 Icarus loadout in you’re next Warzone 2 match. Warzone 2 expert shares ultimate RAAL build with TTK “30% faster” than meta RPK – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert shares ultimate RAAL build with TTK “30% faster” than meta RPK ActivisonWarzone 2 veteran and content creator Rallied has unveiled his go-to build for the RAAL LMG, claiming it “kills 30% faster than RPK”. The RPK light machine gun has been dominating Warzone 2’s meta since pretty much day 1 of the battle royale going live. Its dominance might be coming to an end with Season Two right around the corner – it wouldn’t be a surprise if the devs wanted to crack down on the over performing guns to allow the rest of the weapon pool to shine. Now, content creator and Call of Duty fan Rallied has stated that the RAAL is one of the candidates to take RPK’s place if it does indeed get nerfed. He further claimed that, even in the current state of the game, the RAAL can eliminate enemies “30% faster than the RPK” with the build he opts for. Rallied claims this RAAL will be better than the Season 2 RPK In a February 10 video, the content creator claimed that his collection of attachments and tunings makes this RAAL “the number one fastest killing gun in the game”, and he “cannot wait until RAAL is the meta”. “The RAAL kills in 432 milliseconds, that is absolutely insane,” he explained. “You do have a little bit of recoil on those first couple of shots. But after that, it is smooth sailing, this gun absolutely shreds, and you will be gunning RPKs.” Comparing it to the meta RPK, the RAAL seems to have a faster TTK according to the data Rallied showcased. This is with similar accuracy and ADS time, but at the cost of a much longer reload animation. His full build is detailed below: Muzzle: NIL Sound 90 – Underbarrel: SA Side Grip – Ammunition: .338 Mag High Velocity – Rear Grip: Stip-40 Grip – Optic: Aim Op-V4 – This gun is of course intended for medium to long ranges, and players eager to try this build out should bring something more suited for close ranges to fill the other weapon slot: the Lachmann Sub, for example. We are excited to see how these guns fare on the Ashika Island map coming to Warzone 2 with the Season Two update.

Warzone 2 expert shares three tips to prove that vehicles are invaluable – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert shares three tips to prove that vehicles are invaluable ActivisionWarzone 2 sensei IceManIsaac has shared some vehicle-based tips that prove that they’re an essential asset on Al-Mazrah. IceManIsaac is one of the most prolific Warzone 2 creators on the net and this time around he’s compiled a list of essential tips and tricks that everyone on Al-Mazrah should know. While his list is quite expansive, the vehicle tips are some of the most transformative pieces of advice that a player could receive, so here’s a closer look at how priceless a car can be when trying to reach that victory screen. Warzone 2 guru IceManIsaac’s expert vehicle tips The first tip that players should take from Isaac’s video is to rethink how they’re taking fights while being escorted. Instead of standing out on the roof and being an easy target, the “Lean Out” function allows for a safer and faster way to dip in and out of gunfights. Not only is this method safer, but every teammate can also do it, creating multiple angles to engage from without any huge risks. The next tip that we’re highlighting is one specifically meant to help you engage a player without flinging yourself into the open when dismounting the car or truck. Instead of pulling around towards them and hopping out, the Warzone 2 guru recommends that players take advantage of that aforementioned “lean out” functioning a different way. Instead of hanging out of the window and taking an awkward gunfight, hopping out of the vehicle from here will propel you forward, either giving you temporary cover from the vehicle or at least breaking the opposing team’s cameras as they try to track the dive. The last tip is for disengaging and making a getaway. Instead of waiting out the rough equivalent of an entire geological age for your operator to climb into a car, skip the animation by switching seats as soon as it starts. This does mean you’ll have to cycle back around to the driver’s side, but there’s less chance of getting beamed while moving like a dinosaur.

Warzone 2 expert shares EBR-14 loadout so strong it’s the “DMR 2.0” – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert shares EBR-14 loadout so strong it’s the “DMR 2.0” ActivisonWarzone 2 content creator Metaphor has unveiled his updated EBR-14 loadout, which has “insane damage output” and is so strong it brings back the first BR’s DMR meta. The Warzone 2.0 community truly is one of the most vibrant and active that the Call of Duty franchise has had in a while. Almost every day the definitive meta-weapon changes because someone tunes a weapon’s attachments to give it a unique profile. The EBR-14 is a marksman rifle that already had its moment at the top before the community unlocked the full potential of weapons like Raal MG, or TAQ-56, and dropped it in favor of more ammo in a magazine, faster TTKs and “no recoil” builds. However, Metaphor has suggested that might change and that the EBR could be about to replicate the DMR meta of the first Warzone. “Insane” EBR-14 loadout for Warzone 2 In a December 23 YouTube video he outlined the semi-auto rifle’s potential, claiming its akin to the DMR that spent months as the dominant weapon in Verdansk. “I’m not gonna lie, this thing is kinda crazy if you’re hitting shots with it. It’s basically like the EBR meta is back and I’m kinda scared,” says the content creator. The full customization is as follows: Muzzle: ZLR Talon 5 – Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity – Barrel: 22″ Boremaster Barrel – Optic: VLK 4.0 Optic – Stock: SO-90 Factory Stock – “This thing has the potential to 2-shot if you get headshots,” Metaphor summarized. “And in general, it’s just really, really insane damage output on this weapon.” Ideally, players interested in trying out this build for themselves in Warzone should back up their EBR-14 primary with a submachine gun, like the Fennec, or the X13 akimbo pistols. This will ensure they’re covered at close-ranges, as long as the medium to long-range gunfights in which the EBR flourishes.

Warzone 2 expert revives “forgotten” SMG with meta Season 5 loadout – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert revives “forgotten” SMG with meta Season 5 loadout ActivisionWarzone 2’s close-range meta is dominated by two or maybe three viable options, but the LA Guerillas TikTok account made a case for an option nobody talks about. Ahead of the inevitable Season 5 Reloaded weapon balancing update, there is a clear favorite for the best close-range meta weapon in Warzone 2. According to WZRanked, the Lachmann Sub has an 18.7% pick rate, ranking above every other weapon in the game. And just two spots below sits the ISO 45, which ranks third with an 8.8% pick rate. The Vel 46 has also carved its own niche in popularity rankings, but it’s hard to find a place beside those three weapons. The FSS Hurricane just barely ranks as the 30th most popular weapon in WZ2m, and it’s never really been that much of a fan favorite throughout the game’s lifestyle. Despite flying under the radar, the LA Guerillas TikTok account argued that more players should consider using the FSS Hurricane. What is the best SMG in Warzone 2? The LA Guerillas TikTok account asked: “Why is no one using this SMG (FSS Hurricane)?” The TikToker acknowledged that the weapon only has a low pick rate but claimed it has a 99% kill rate. With this loadout, they believe that it is finally time to “revive this forgotten SMG.” Best Warzone 2 FSS Hurricane loadout Here is the LA Guerillas TikTok’s preferred FSS Hurricane loadout with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: Spiral V3.5 Flash (+0.58, +0.27) – Laser: FSS OLE-V (-0.37, -32.90) – Ammunition: Hollow Point (+0.43, +4.94) – Stock: Demo Quicksilver (-2.84, -1.32) – Rear Grip: Phantom Grip (-0.71, -0.25) – This loadout emphasizes movement speed, ADS speed, and overall mobility. An added benefit of the Hurricane is that it already comes with a large enough magazine, so you can use that extra attachment slot somewhere else. If the FSS Hurricane doesn’t meet the standard of other SMGs, make sure to check out our guide on the best Warzone 2 SMGs.

Warzone 2 expert reveals “unmatched” long-range LMG loadout – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals “unmatched” long-range LMG loadout ActivisionIt’s easy to get dragged into a long-range fight in Warzone 2, and CoD expert WhosImmortal has shown off a loadout with “unmatched power” that’s perfect for picking off foes at a distance. Every Warzone 2 match is completely different from the last, with the new split circles and AI Strongholds consistently throwing players into unique situations. Luckily, the battle royale sequel has a diverse lineup of weapons to help you survive. While fast-firing SMGs are ideal for close-quarters combat, it’s essential to run a weapon to take out enemies from across the sprawling Al Mazrah desert. Warzone 2 expert WhosImmortal has revealed what he believes is the most powerful long-range weapon in the game, and shared the ideal build. In his December 22 video, WhosImmortal was breaking down the best meta loadouts at a distance, and he claimed that RAAL MG is “arguably the strongest long-range gun in the game.” He acknowledged that, as an LMG, it does come with bouncy recoil that can take time to become accustomed to, but the CoD YouTuber urged players to learn the recoil pattern as the RAAL MG can dominate Warzone 2 matches. “Its power is unmatched, this thing’s TTK over range is unreal,” he explained. “It’s going to absolutely melt through players when you’re landing your shots. Learn that recoil pattern, get the overall feel of the weapon down, and you are going to reap the rewards because this thing is a beast. Check out WhosImmortal’s RAAL MG loadout in Warzone 2 below: WhosImmortal’s “unmatched” RAAL MG loadout in Warzone 2 Muzzle: Nilsound 90 – Barrel: 26.5″ Demo Field Pro Barrel – Optic: Aim OP-V4 – Underbarrel: XRK Dune Grip – Rear Grip: Stip-40 Grip – WhosImmortal’s RAAL MG loadout is built around keeping laser accurate with minimum recoil. It’s still going to be slightly bouncier than an Assault Rifle, but it more than makes up for it with great horizontal stability and an “absurd” TTK even over long distances. It also has the added benefit of a large ammo capacity, meaning it can chew through entire squads before you even have to think about reloading. The YouTuber recommended bringing a close-range SMG along to make up for the RAAL’s poor mobility, but this LMG can dish out huge damage if a rival squad dare to take you on. Warzone 2 expert reveals underused sniper loadout perfect for aggressive games – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals underused sniper loadout perfect for aggressive games ActivisionWarzone 2 guru Metaphor has showcased a very aggressive, “insane” loadout for the underused SA-B 50 sniper rifle in Season 2. Warzone 2’s meta is still currently shaped by the February 24 update that locked ISO Hemlock and KV Broadside, the two new weapons, into the top-tier weapon category. Many players and content creators are back to more experimental load-outs and finding “hidden gems” among the countless weapon and attachment combinations amid the meta becoming somewhat stale according to some players. An excellent example of finding such hidden gem is a March 13 video from content creator Metaphor, who unveiled an “aggressive” loadout for the SA-B 50 that utilizes the rifles iron sight for close and medium-ranged combat. Metaphor’s SA-B 50 loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Barrel: 18.5″ Bryson LR Factory – Laser: FFS OLE-V Laser – Ammunition: .308 High Velocity – Stock: XRK Specter Mod – Rear Grip: Schlager Match Grip – Metaphor explained that he thinks this way to play with SA-B is “one of the most fun things to use in the game right now”, he states that it’s pretty hard to use this gun if you are not already very familiar of ins and outs of Warzone 2 however. “It is really satisfying and very fun to use, so I highly recommend giving this loadout a try if you guys are trying to improve on your aggressiveness and you want Warzone to feel a little more fast-paced,” said the content creator about the iron sight SA-B build. The marksman rifle is bolt-action, meaning that its TTK is quite high, therefore taking potshots at the enemy while peeking from behind cover is the go-to strategy with this build. A single bullet does substantial damage and more of then than not two shots will seal the deal. The build above focuses on enhancing its mobility and handling which is very unusual for a rifle of this kind, but it allows you to be more aggressive and to ADS and shoot after sprinting much faster. That said, you’ll still want a more conventional backup to finish the deal or to switch out when your magazine is empty, we recommend the Lachmann Sub or a KV Broadside shotgun to keep up your aggression at close ranges.

Warzone 2 expert reveals underused battle rifle with “phenomenal TTK” – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals underused battle rifle with “phenomenal TTK” ActivisonWarzone 2 guru TrueGameData has unveiled a loadout for an underrated Battle Rifle that has the potential to compete with the meta ARs. When it comes to choosing a weapon in Warzone 2, it’s the SMGs and ARs that are getting the majority of the attention. While this is expected, their popularity often means certain other categories of weapons go under the radar, one of which being the Battle Rifles. These guns can be a force to be reckoned with if equipped with a top-tier loadout, capable of dishing out huge amounts of damage with pinpoint accuracy. According to TrueGameData, there’s one, in particular, that’s being slept on and it’s definitely a weapon you need to test out in one of your matches. Best TAQ-V loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Optic: Luca Bandera Scope – Muzzle: Kastovia DX90 – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 – Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity – Magazine: 50-Round Drum – For TrueGameData, the TAQ-V Battle Rifle is one of the most powerful options on Al Mazrah and makes short work of foes at medium to long range. Equipped with a “phenomenal TTK” and impressive damage range, it dispatches foes in milliseconds when making use of the build above. As the gun has a full-auto and a single-fire mode, TrueGameData makes it clear that at long-range, you should be using the semi-auto feature. This is because while shooting single bullets, the gun actually deals more damage, making it a two-shot kill to the chest. Topic starts at 25:23 It’s worth noting that although the TAQ-V can hold its own at close quarters with full-auto, it’s recommended that you run the Weapon Specialist perk package. This will give you access to Overkill and allow you to use either the Fennec 45 or Lachmann Sub. With a meta SMG alongside the TAQ-V, you’ll have a meta loadout packed with versatility and raw firepower.

Warzone 2 expert reveals two perfect loadouts to dominate in DMZ – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals two perfect loadouts to dominate in DMZ Activision BlizzardWarzone 2 expert Stodeh shared assault rifle and sniper rifle loadouts specifically tailored for DMZ’s AI and PVP engagements. Despite taking place on the same map, Warzone 2 and DMZ have two very distinct styles of gameplay. WZ2 is a traditional battle royale experience and has a set-in-stone meta. DMZ offers sandbox-style gameplay, allowing squads to approach a match however they want. Players can fight AI enemies, complete challenges, or take on opposing teams and steal their loot. Creative freedom opens the door for different types of class setups for varying types of playstyles. Warzone 2 YouTuber Stodeh has already racked up 100s of hours in DMZ, and he relied upon his expertise to reveal his favorite two loadout weapons. Warzone 2 DMZ expert shares TAQ-56 and Victus XMR loadouts Stodeh explained why he uses each DMZ loadout item in his most recent YouTube video. He started by claiming, “as I have shown in many situations, the smoke grenade is the best tool we have in this game mode.” The YouTuber uses the tactical grenade to mask his location while extracting and fighting enemies in PVP fights. He also recommends using a claymore, as he showed an example of using the item as a land mine against an enemy vehicle. Warzone 2 TAQ-56 DMZ loadout Stodeh’s favorite insured weapon loadout in DMZ is the TAQ-56 because it is “amazing at mid-range versus players and against AI.” It has almost no recoil, a 60-round magazine, high damage, and is suppressed.” Here is the full TAQ-56 loadout with attachment tuning included. Barrel: 17.5″ Tundra Pro Barrel (+0.40 Weight, -0.19 Length) – Muzzle: Echoline GS-X (+0.90 Weight, +0.65 Length) – Underbarrel: XTEN GraveDigger (+0.49 Weight, +0.22 Length) – Magazine: 60 Round Mag – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro (-1.65 Weight, -2.25 Eye Position) – Victus XMR loadout As for his secondary option, Stodeh opts to go with a Victus XMR loadout that maximizes velocity. “The Victus has the fastest bullet speed in the entire game. You essentially don’t need to adjust for bullet speed or drop at almost any range, and most players don’t have three plates in DMZ so getting that initial headshot down with a single shot is ideal for this game mode.” Here is the full Victus XMR loadout with attachment tuning included. Barrel: Mack 8 33.5 Super (-0.29 Weight, -0.12 Length) – Muzzle: Bruen Counter Ops (-0.41 Weight, +1.00 Length) – Laser: VLK LZR 7MW – Ammunition: .50 Cal High Velocity (+0.52 Weight, +4.94 Load) – Rear Grip: Bruen 0900 Grip (-0.77 Weight, +0.28 Width) – Anyone who is struggling in DMZ should give these loadouts a run for themselves.

Warzone 2 expert reveals “top tier” LMG that will replace the RPK – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals “top tier” LMG that will replace the RPK CoD YouTuber WhosImmortal revealed which LMG will replace the RPK in Warzone 2 if a nerf is coming in Season 2. Warzone 2 expert WhosImmortal claimed the RPK “is far and away the best weapon right now” thanks to the weapon’s controllable recoil and devastating time-to-kill speed. The RPK boasts an incredible 18.2% pick rate, according to WZ Ranked, and the TAQ-V’s 12.3% comes second. We ranked the top five weapons in Warzone 2 and explained why the RPK Is the game’s best weapon. With all of that being said, no gun stays on top forever. Each CoD seasonal update comes alongside weapon rebalancing changes. Activision delayed Season 2 until February 15, meaning now is the perfect opportunity to level up a replacement if the RPK receives a nerf. WhosImmortal crowns new Warzone 2 LMG king Operating under the belief of an imminent RPK nerf, WhosImmortal constructed a list of potential replacements. With the help of data provided by sym.gg, the YouTuber compared TTK speeds of the TAQ 56, Kastov 762, RPK, and Sakin MG38. He ruled out the TAQ-56 and Kastov 762 because of slower TTK speeds, leaving the Sakin MG38 and Rapp H. The RAPP H performs better than the Sakin in short-range and long-range combat, but a harder-to-control recoil makes the Sakin a more well-rounded option. WhosImmortal claimed, “The Sakin is one of the easier LMGS to use, has excellent control, and I really enjoy using it.” Here is WhosImmortal’s Sakin MG38 loadout with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: Kastovia DX90 (-0.90 Weight, +0.65 Length) – Barrel: Bruen Silver Series Barrel (+0.32 Weight, +0.31 Length) – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 (+0.49 Weight, +0.21 Inches) – Rear Grip: Bruen G35 Grip Wrap (+0.71 weight, +0.25 Width) – Optic: AIM OP-V4 (-0.59 Weight, -1.65 Eye Position) – The YouTuber focuses on maximizing the weapon’s potential in long-range engagements and reducing recoil at long ranges. “This thing is super easy to use. It has low recoil at 40 meters, 80 meters, and 120 meters; it doesn’t matter. You are going to be able to fry with this thing; it is absolutely a top-tier long-range choice.”

Warzone 2 expert reveals “the best” Signal 50 loadout – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals “the best” Signal 50 loadout ActivisionWarzone 2 expert Metaphor revealed an easy-to-use Signal 50 loadout that shreds through opposing teams. Sniper rifles have quietly crept back into Warzone 2’s meta. According to WZ Ranked, The Signal 50 is the fifth most popular weapon in the battle royal sequel. Warzone 2 community members voiced concerns over sniper rifles no longer having the capability to one-shot kill enemies. However, the Signal 50 provides a unique skill set that overcomes the class’ shortcomings. Inspired by the classic Barret .50 Cal, the Signal 50 is a semi-automatic sniper rifle that packs a massive punch. A devastatingly fast fire rate makes up for an inability to one-shot kill enemies, allowing users to fire a follow-up shot almost instantaneously. Metaphor explained why the Signal 50 is the easiest sniper rifle to use and why all players should consider adding it to their arsenal. Metaphor reveals powerful Signal 50 Warzone 2 loadout CoD YouTuber Metaphor explained how to maximize the Signal 50’s potential. “I do have full confidence in saying this is probably the best sniper for the average player.” Metaphor argued the SP-X 80 delivers a better overall package for players with better accuracy, but the Signal 50 is more consistent and approachable for less skilled players. A semi-automatic fire rate allows users to be less accurate without being punished. Here is Metaphor’s Signal 50 loadout with tuning. Barrel: 29″ TV Kilo-50 (+.35 Weight, 0.00 Length) – Laser: FSS Ole-V Laser – Stock: FSS Echo Stock (-4.00 Weight, +1.78 Length) – Rear Grip: Cronen Blockade Grip (0.00 Weight, + .45 Length) – Ammunition: .50 Cal High Velocity (default) – Metaphor focused on improving the weapon’s recoil control while tuning, making it easier to fire multiple shots. “You are going to get two-shot kills almost all the time anyways. You don’t really need to make the damage range better.” If you are more confident in your accuracy, check out our SP-X 80 loadout.

Warzone 2 expert reveals Signal 50 build to end the best sniper rifle debate – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals Signal 50 build to end the best sniper rifle debate ActivisionWarzone 2 content creator Metaphor has shown off an “overpowered” Signal 50 build, explaining that the MW2 sniper loadout propelled him to multiple victories. Warzone 2.0’s meta is not yet set in stone, with the game mode still relatively early in its life cycle. Almost every day players make significant discoveries that move weapons up or down the tier list. Sniper Rifles are among the more controversial weapon types. Some experts claim they are crucial for surviving Al-Mazrah, while others suggest you are better off with an assault rifle and a short-range backup. The Signal 50 is a semi-auto sniper that is slow to draw, cumbersome, and offers less damage than some bolt-action counterparts. But it makes up for all of that with a seriously high rate of fire for a sniper rifle. Sadly this weapon is not popular among the Warzone 2’s community, likely due to the fact that without good attachments it just doesn’t perform. But this build by Metaphor might change the minds of Signal 50’s “haters.” Metaphor destroys Warzone 2 opposition with “overpowered” Signal 50 loadout In a December 10 YouTube video, Metaphor shared his build to improve the Signal 50’s range, stability, and bullet dropoff. “This is a sniper that I always known is strong in this game,” he said. “Used it for several hours today and got a ton of wins with this gun. Honestly, this is the best sniper in the game. There are just kills with this gun that you cannot get with any other gun.” Metaphor was so pleased with this Signal 50 build that he is now considering switching it into his default loadout when he is going for high-kill solo games. The full customization is as follows: Muzzle: Bruen Counter-Ops – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 – Ammunition: .50 Cal High Velocity – Rear Grip: Cronen Blockade Grip – Stock: FFS Echo Stock – If players are using the Signal in trios or quads, it is recommended to swap out one of the attachments (probably the stock or rear grip)for an extended magazine so as to not run out of ammo against multiple enemies. An assault rifle or SMG should take up the other weapon slot. Metaphor himself runs the “insta kill” Kastov-47u as his backup while playing this Signal 50 build.

Warzone 2 expert reveals secret settings added in Season 3 – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals secret settings added in Season 3 Activision BlizzardWarzone 2 Season 3 made wide-sweeping changes across Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, and some of which slipped between the cracks. Season 3 made a few significant changes to Warzone 2. The battle royale sequel received a new Gulag, Massive Resurgence, and the Trophy Hunt event. One-shot sniping was also finally added back after months of pleading from players. Unfortunately, promised movement changes and TTK improvements failed to live up to expectations, leading to community members slamming the seasonal update. Tensions boiled over, and players were livid that the game didn’t feel different. Frustrations over unmet expectations dominated headlines, causing a few subtle changes to fly under the radar. The New York Subliners caught wind of important quality-of-life changes made and warned players. Season 3 adds secret setting to Warzone 2 The New York Subliners TikTok constantly keeps players up to date with what’s new in the battle royale. The Subliners warned players about changes made to Warzone 2 settings in Season 3. “Activision tried to pull a fast one on us. After the recent update, there are numerous settings that were changed and a few secret settings added that we really don’t want.” The Subliners claimed that world motion blur and weapon motion blur were both flipped on for some players after the update. The TikToker recommended flipping both back to off, as it makes the game run and look smoother. Season 3 also added cinematic music, and the TikToker suggested turning that slider all the way down, so it doesn’t get in the way of important audio. It wasn’t all bad, as the developers added a new feature that automatically switches a weapon when you run out of ammo. This setting may end up saving a player’s life during an intense gunfight. Every setting in Warzone 2, and MW2 is subjective. There is no right or wrong way to adjust settings, but it is important to know what may have changed without you knowing.

Warzone 2 expert reveals secret ISO Hemlock attachment buff – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals secret ISO Hemlock attachment buff ActivisionThe ISO Hemlock is a strong contender for Warzone 2’s best AR in Season 5, and B1inkin revealed a secret tip to make the weapon even stronger. The ISO Hemlock was the standout pick in Season 2 Reloaded, sadly making it a prime candidate for a nerf in Season 3. A nerf came, and it came hard. The AR fell off in popularity, opening the door for LMGs and battle rifles to take over. After Season 5’s weapon balancing changes, the TAQ-V and Cronen Squall still dominate the game’s long-range meta. But if players want a fully automatic weapon with better mobility and ADS speed than a battle rifle, they need an AR. And players should look no further than the ISO Hemlock, as it checks every box for a good long-range meta weapon. Warzone 2 expert explains why players should use .300 Blackout ammunition B1inkin used sym.gg to discover that the ISO Hemlock has a TTK speed of 872 milliseconds from 50 meters away with .300 Blackout ammunition. This beats out the base 1000 ms speed. That may not seem like a huge difference on paper, but it’s a noticeable difference in the heat of a gunfight. However, .300 Blackout ammunition negatively impacts recoil control. Despite the attachment’s hindrances, B1inkin argued that the downsides are less noticeable after the Season 5 update. “In previous seasons, the recoil on the Blackout round was absolutely atrocious. I don’t know if they buffed it, but they made an adjustment to it and you should probably try them out because they feel kind of nice.” B1inkin backed up his claim by showing off his ISO Hemlock loadout in the firing range, and it had little to no recoil. Best ISO Hemlock Warzone 2 loadout Using .300 Blackout ammunition, here is our recommended loadout. Muzzle: Harbinger D20 (+0.99, +0.65,) – Barrel: Fielder T50 (+0.19, +0.25) – Optic: Aim OP-V4 (+0.87, -1.65) – Ammunition: .300 Blackout – Magazine: 45-Round Mag – If the ISO Hemlock fails to meet expectations, check out our list of the best Warzone 2 loadouts in Season 5.

Warzone 2 expert reveals powerful attachment nobody uses but should – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals powerful attachment nobody uses but should ActivisionWarzone 2 guru Sally is a Dog has highlighted an optic that nobody is using but is just as good as the meta Aim OP-V4 choice, if not better in certain situations. When Warzone 2 first launched, it took a few weeks for a meta to fully flesh out. Players were trying to use pretty much every weapon at first, never mind settling on the correct tunings for them. As of now, the meta is dominated by the likes of the Vaznev-9K and Cronen Squall, with loadouts for both consisting of pretty similar attachments. In the case of the Cronen, the majority of players have chosen to run with the Aim OP-V4 sight. It’s a popular attachment for many other guns too, but should it really be the dominant and go-to optic in Warzone 2? Slept-on Warzone 2 optic matches meta Aim OP-V4 pick Well, YouTuber Sally is a Dog highlighted a different scope that is barely being used, but is just as good as the OP-V4 – and that is the SZ Recharge-DX. “It’s got a very clean sight picture and I think gives about the same visual recoil as the Aim OP-V4,” the Warzone 2 expert said in his May 1 video, noting that players scrambled to use the OP-V4 because it just became the consensus pick for an optic. After using it in a game, the YouTuber added that the sight is “just as good” as the OP-V4 but has a “larger” area of view, which would be a bonus in gunfights contested over distance. Given that the OP-V4 has become the consensus pick, it will be tough to dethrone it anytime soon. As we’ve seen previously in Warzone, optic attachments only really change if something becomes broken. Though, the SZ Recharge-DX is certainly worth giving a spin.

Warzone 2 expert reveals perfect Lachmann Sub loadout for Ranked mode – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals perfect Lachmann Sub loadout for Ranked mode ActivisonFaZe Booya revealed his Lachmann Sub loadout for the World Series of Warzone, barring any mid-season nerf. Warzone 2 finally receives a ranked mode at some point during Season 3. Treyarch and Raven Software teamed up to develop the game mode. Community members praised Treyarch for its work on MW2 Ranked Play, and WZ2 will use a similar Top 250 system. Activision also announced a return of the World Series of Warzone. Trios from all over the world will compete for a chance to take home a lion’s share of the $1.2 million prize pool. The WSOW will use Warzone Ranked competitive settings, restricting certain elements that are in the standard battle royale experience. In preparation for the first stage of qualifiers on April 28, FaZe Booya revealed a Lachmann Sub loadout he expects most pros will use in the WSOW and in ranked. FaZe Booya explains why the Lachmann Sub is a must-use SMG According to WZRanked, the Vaznev-9K has a higher pick rate than the Lachmann Sub. Despite being less popular, Booya argued that most pros will likely use the Lachmann Sub in Qualifer matches. “This is what we are using in Al Mazrah. Many of the high-level pros are all using the same MP5 build.” Booyah believes that the ISO Hemlock should be the preferred long-range option and that the Lachmann Sub acts as a perfect secondary weapon. Best Lachmann Sub loadout for Warzone 2 Ranked Here is Booya’s go-to Lachmann Sub loadout with attachment tuning included. Barrel: L38 Falcon 226MM (+0.50, +0.40) – Laser: VLK LZR 7MW (-.50, +51.00) – Stock: Meer Recoil-56 Factor Stock (-4.00, -2.40) – Rear Grip: Lachmann TCG (-1.00, -0.45) – Magazine: 40-Round Mag – Activision did not reveal a release date for Ranked mode. Based on the Battle Pass, we expect the mid-season update to happen on either May 17 or May 24. The Lachmann Sub could potentially get nerfed as part of the update, but as of now, Booya believes that this is the best-close range option for competitive action.

Warzone 2 expert reveals “overpowered” sniper build that one-shot kills in Season Two – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals “overpowered” sniper build that one-shot kills in Season Two ActivisonWarzone 2 veteran and content creator Metaphor has showcased a build for the SP-X 80, claiming it “brings back one-shot” sniper rifles to Al Mazrah. Currently, we are in the middle of a huge meta shakeup following the big Warzone 2 Season 2 update that brought a variety of changes to Al Mazrah. Amid the changes, a new strategy has emerged that turns select sniper rifles into ‘one shot’ kill weapons, like the ones seen during the early days of the original Warzone. Metaphor, an influential Call of Duty content creator, has stated that the SP-X 80 using the incendiary ammunition is an “overpowered one-shot sniper” and the developers might end up “patching it,” so fans of long-range sniping may have a limited window to take advantage of this build. Metaphor claims this build “could be the future of Warzone” In a February 18 video, the content creator explained that his collection of attachments and tunings makes this SP-X 80 a “one shot” sniper thanks to the incendiary ammunition damage. “The idea here is that you headshot them, which leaves them on 1 HP usually,” he explained the mechanics of this ‘one shot’ sniper. “But since you are on incendiary it will tick damage and instakill them right after.” Metaphor also explained that SP-X has a limited range where this is true, and some other sniper rifles in the game might be able to ‘one shot’ at larger ranges. “If you headshot someone they are going to die. Unless they are too far away from you. I think this is like probably good for about 80 to 100 meters on the SP-X, some of the other snipers are longer range. But I wanted to play a little bit more aggressively.” His full build is detailed below: Muzzle: NIL Sound 90 – Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser – Ammunition: .300 Incendiary – Rear Grip: Schlager Match Grip – Stock: Max DMR Precision – This sniper rifle is intended for medium to long ranges, so players eager to try do some sniping in Al Mazrah should bring something more ‘close range’ for in-doors encounters: the Lachmann Sub, for example. We are excited to see how these guns fare on the all-new Ashika Island map in the temporary resurgence mode of Warzone 2 Season Two.

Warzone 2 expert reveals ‘OP’ AR everyone abandoned is still deadly – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals ‘OP’ AR everyone abandoned is still deadly ActivisionIf you thought the ISO Hemlock had gone away in Warzone 2, you might want to think again. Even though players have abandoned it, the assault rifle is pretty viable. Over the last few seasons, the Warzone 2 devs have managed to shake up the meta in a big way with numerous buffs and weapon changes. In Season 4, they finally knocked the Cronen Squall off its perch with a pretty significant nerf. Prior to the Cronen’s dominance, though, fans of the battle royale suffered through the ISO Hemlock meta. The assault rifle was broken at pretty much every range, but it took a while for the devs to address it. When they did, though, it barely dropped off the first time. It took a second nerf for the AR to completely fall off the map. However, it is still pretty viable these days and could make a comeback. Best ISO Hemlock loadout for Warzone 2 Season 4 That’s according to Warzone expert Sally Is A Dog, who highlighted it in his July 6 video and questioned why players still don’t use it more often. While Sally himself wants to leave the days of the Hemlock’s dominance “in the past,” he praised it for still being usable. “It felt pretty good. I don’t know why everyone stopped using it, it’s still a very serviceable AR,” the YouTuber said. The loadout doesn’t really differ from the days of old, either as the likes of the SZ Recharge sight, 5.56 High Velocity rounds, and the 45-round magazine are all being used. Barrel: Fielder-T50 – Muzzle: Komodo Heavy – Optic: SZ Recharge-DX – Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity – Magazine: 45-round mag – As noted, the Hemlock’s usage has fallen completely off a cliff. WZRanked has it as the 18th most-used weapon, which isn’t terrible, but it is still a far cry from the good old days. It remains to be seen if the Hemlock will ever really break back into the meta, but it’s clearly usable.

Warzone 2 expert reveals “king” of LMGs that has best TTK in Season 2 – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals “king” of LMGs that has best TTK in Season 2 ActivisonWarzone 2 guru WhosImmortal has unveiled an underrated LMG with a “heavy-hitting” TTK at long-range that’s also “easy to use” in Season 2. Warzone 2’s Season 2 update is well underway and the community is enjoying all the new content that arrived in the patch. Despite the exciting additions, the balance changes had the most significant impact on the meta, meaning players are still searching for top-tier picks to dominate Al Mazrah. While the TAQ-56, RPK, and Kastov 762 are the early standouts, WhosImmortal has uncovered an underused weapon that’s getting overlooked despite its overwhelming power. With a devastating TTK, manageable recoil, and plenty of ammo to wipe out entire squads, this LMG needs to be on your loadout list. Best RAAL MG loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Barrel: 21″ EXF Rhino Barrel – Muzzle: Shred CP90 – Underbarrel: XRK Dune Grip – Optic: AIM OP-V4 – Rear Grip: STIP 40 Grip – For WhosImmortal, the RAAL MG is the “king of TTK” thanks to the gun’s unbelievably strong damage output, especially from long distances. The LMG has so much firepower, the build above focuses strictly on bolstering its recoil pattern, making the weapon extremely “easy to use”. While the RAAL does lack mobility due to its bulky frame, WhosImmortal makes it very clear that “if you land and connect with your shots with the RAAL, your enemies don’t stand a chance”. Of course, to maximize this “heavy-hitting” LMGs potential, it’s key that you post in up in power positions, which will allow you to rain down bullets on your foes from above. Topic starts at 8:20 As the RAAL struggles at close range, it key you to run Overkill so you gain access to a second primary. This will allow you to run a meta SMG and the YouTuber suggests the Fennec 45. This combination will make you unstoppable in Warzone 2 and give you a faster TTK than any enemy you encounter. Not only that, the RAAL only has a 0.4% pick rate, so jump on this loadout before the rest of the community catches on.

Warzone 2 expert reveals Kastov 762 loaodut with “broken” TTK speed – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals Kastov 762 loaodut with “broken” TTK speed YouTube: JGODWarzone 2 guru JGOD revealed a “broken” Kastov 762 loadout and explained why the AR is one of his favorite weapons. Warzone 2’s current meta revolves around finding weapons with an easily controllable recoil and high damage profile. Sniper rifles have failed to secure a foothold in the battle royale because of their inability to one-shot kill enemies, opening the door for ARs and LMGs to steal the crown for the best long-range weapons. According to WZRanked, The TAQ-56 is the best weapon in Warzone 2, but JGOD acknowledged the Kastov 762’s higher damage output is noticeable. The Kastov 762 boasts class-leading damage at range, and its devastating damage per second makes it a must-try weapon. JGOD shared his favorite Kastov 762 loadout and offered different ways to customize the loadout based on playstyles. JGOD Reveals his go-to Kastov 762 loadout for DMZ JGOD ranked the Kastov 762 as the third-best long-range meta weapon in Warzone 2. “This is by far one of my favorite weapons to use, and this is probably my main go-to in DMZ because its TTK is so broken fast.” Weapons with a fast TTK are perfect for DMZ when taking out AI enemies. The developers recently nerfed AI combatants, so they deal less damage than before. JGOD explained that the weapon’s only downside is the 40-round magazine size. He wishes the weapon could hold more bullets, which would “take it over the top.” If you wanted to use the weapon in close-range engagements, the YouTuber suggested equipping a Cronen Mini Pro but said optics come down to personal preference. Here is JGOD’s Kastov 762 loadout with attachment tuning included: Muzzle: ZLR Talon 5 (+0.09 Weight, -0.32 Length) – Barrel: KAS-10 584mm Barrel (+0.21 Weight, -0.13 Length) – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 (+0.57 Weight, +0.00 Length) – Optic: Aim OP-V4 (-1.65 Weight, +1.80 Length) – Magazine: 40 Round Mag – Whether in DMZ or Warzone 2, give this “broken” Kastov 762 loadout a try for yourself and reap the rewards.

Warzone 2 expert reveals “insane” X13 auto pistol build – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals “insane” X13 auto pistol build ActivisionWarzone 2 content creator Metaphor has unveiled an “insane” X13 auto pistol build, stating that this sidearm setup saved him multiple times against numerous opponents. It has now been a month and a half since Warzone 2.0 dropped, but the meta stays everchanging with numerous balance changes and patch notes shaking things up. To stay informed one must go over the tier list every time the game updates. Sidearms are naturally just a backup in case your main gun runs out of ammo in Warzone 2, oftentimes being discarded as soon as the player can find another SMG, such as a Fennec, either from a loadout, Buy Station, or from an opponent. But some builds, mostly akimbo-oriented pistol builds, have broken that stigma. Such is the case with this “insane” X13 build that Metaphor shared through YouTube on December 19. X13 akimbo loadout shreds in Warzone The full customization is as follows: Muzzle: FT Steel Fire – Ammunition: 9mm Overpressurized +P – Magazine: 33 Round Mag – Rear Grip: Akimbo X13 – Laser: 1MW Pistol Laser – “If you get into a room with people you can completely spray everyone down,” he said when describing the build. “These things are super fun to use, they are just gonna fail you if you’re a bit ranged away. But so do the other pistols.” Metaphor showed clips of games where he easily won 1v2 encounters, proving just how deadly the X13 akimbo is up close. Not only that, but they also have the clip capacity to make you feel confident against multiple opponents compared to for example P890 with fewer bullets in the clip. An assault rifle or a sniper rifle should take up the other weapon slot, such as the recently added Chimera AR, or even the throwback “Kar98K” loadout that IceManIsaac recently showcased.

Warzone 2 expert reveals how to prevent losing early in Ranked Play – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals how to prevent losing early in Ranked Play ActivisionThe LA Guerillas TikTok revealed a few simple tricks and tips to make it to the final circle of Warzone 2 Ranked Play matches. Warzone 2 Ranked Play competitors gain Skill Rating and progress through the mode’s seven divisions by getting kills and earning high placements. On May 24, Treyarch reworked the SR system to reward players more for their impressive finishes. The development team claimed the change will make placement “feel more rewarding.” The battle royale sequel’s competitive mode matchmakes based on skill level, so it’s not necessarily a cakewalk to make it towards the latter stages of a game. With that in mind, the LA Guerillas provided a handy guide for earning more SR placement points. How to Survive for longer in Warzone 2 Ranked Play The LA Guerillas revealed a strategy for making it further in Warzone 2 Ranked Play matches. First, the TikToker recommended not wasting time looting cash. Instead, players should try the recon run strategy. This entails grabbing a weapon as soon as possible and popping a UAV purchasable at a buy station. While enemies are still looting, players can catch them off guard and swoop in for easy kills. Users earn 5 SER per elimination plus 2 SR for any squadmate’s elimination with 21 or more squads remaining at the beginning of a match. Next, the LA Guerillas urged players to loot their perks as fast as possible either via loadout drop or the buy station. If players decide to go the buy station route, Ranger offers Double Time, or Insurgent keeps you off the mini-map. Above all else, getting kills first and focusing on looting later is the main focus of the LA Guerillas’ guide. It’s hard to gain SR in Warzone 2, especially in the mode’s higher divisions. But hopefully, these tips help you and your teammates climb the ranks.

Warzone 2 expert reveals how to “never lose” against akimbo pistols – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals how to “never lose” against akimbo pistols Akimbo pistols dominate in Warzone 2, but the LA Guerillas TikTok taught a lesson in countering the overpowered weapon. Infinity Ward nerfed akimbo pistols in the Season 1 Reloaded update. Dual-wielding pistols deal less damage against armored opponents, yet players still gravitate toward using the fan-favorite weapon. WZ2’s new perk system contributes to its popularity. Out of the eight available preset perk packages, only one allows players to use two primary weapons at once. So odds are, you are using a secondary weapon, and akimbo pistols stand out as the most viable option. Going up against an akimbo pistol user up close and personal is a nightmare. Fortunately, the LA Guerillas TikTok cracked the code and discovered a perfect way to fight back. Warzone 2 expert unearths method for dealing with akimbo pistols On January 30, the LA Guerillas gave three tips for dealing with akimbo pistol users. The first piece of advice is to create distance with a door or stairs from the akimbo pistol user. Once the enemy gets closer, it should be an easy kill if you are holding a pre-fire angle. “With akimbo pistols, players can only hipfire, limiting how precise they are.” Players can take advantage of akimbo pistols’ weakness by getting behind a head glitch and shooting back while crouched. The LA Guerillas even recommended snaking while hiding behind cover. Lastly, as you are running away from an enemy, quickly turning around to fire back will catch them off guard. “Run just until you are hidden, and then turn around. Hit a drop shot, lay prone at stairs, or climb a wall mid-gunfight. The enemy won’t expect this.” Warzone 2 Season 2 makes it possible for players to customize their perks. Infinity Ward clarified that the new feature will launch with a reduced pool of perks to choose from. If players can choose overkill, this would theoretically make akimbo pistols less viable, as equipping two primary weapons would be easier. Until Warzone 2’s next season begins on February 15, players can at least use this advice to alleviate a few headaches.

Warzone 2 expert reveals how to max level a weapon in a flash – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals how to max level a weapon in a flash ActivisionModern Warfare 2’s attachment system requires players to level up every weapon, and one YouTuber shared the perfect shortcut in Warzone 2. Modern Warfare 2 introduced a new controversial attachment unlock system. Rather than unlocking attachments per class, MW2 forces players to leave their comfort zone and use every weapon. For example, you may need to level up a shotgun to unlock an attachment for an SMG. On the one hand, this system adds extra variety in multiplayer matches, as players will use weapons they usually don’t try. However, some players argue it’s too convoluted, and you shouldn’t be forced to level up a weak gun. An added benefit of MW2’s feature is when you unlock an attachment, it can be equipped on any weapon. So, players only need to trudge through the tedious grind once before getting the customization options they need. Warzone 2 YouTuber shares easy weapon leveling method Reaching the max level on a weapon unlocks every attachment. By just playing normally a semi-skilled player can reach the max level of a weapon in around an hour. Warzone 2 YouTuber FourEyes revealed how to max-level a weapon in just around 20 minutes. FourEyes recommends using this method on Warzone 2’s new Resurgence map, Ashika Island. The basic premise of the technique is completing contracts and avoiding gunfights as much as possible. First, players must create a loadout with the weapon they want to level up and use a Double XP token if they have one. Then the YouTuber suggested landing near a Scavenger contract and buy station. Pick up the contract and then loot chests until you have $2,500. Go to the buy station and use that money to purchase the weapon you want to level up. From there, players must race to complete as many Most Wanted contracts as possible. Having your location on the map may seem intimidating, but the YouTuber revealed that looting chests reduce the contract time by 10 seconds. Ideally, FourEyes recommends completing about three or four contracts per game and claims that you can max level a weapon within two games with a Double XP token active.

Warzone 2 expert reveals fastest-killing battle rifle loadout for Ashika Island – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals fastest-killing battle rifle loadout for Ashika Island ActivisonFaZe Booya revealed the new fastest killing weapon in Warzone 2 after the Season 3 update. The Season 3 weapon buffs and nerfs slightly shook up Warzone 2’s meta. The Lachmann 762 saw its movement speed increased, bringing the underrated battle rifle in line with other long-range meta options. Dishing out damage has never been an issue for the Lachman-762, but improved movement speed finally makes choosing it worthwhile. Players can shred through enemies in just 809ms out to 81 meters, which stands toe-to-toe with other meta rifles. According to WZ Ranked, the Lachmann-762 ranks 24th in weapon pick rate, but FaZe Booya explained why more players should give it a chance. What is the fastest killing weapon in Warzone 2? WZStatsGG claimed that the Lachmann-762 boasts the fastest TTK in Warzone when used in full auto motes. The Battle Rifle can down up to six players with the 30-round magazine and up to 10 enemies with the 50-round magazine, FaZe Booya decided to see for himself what all of the hype was about. Using the battle rifle, the YouTuber took down 21 enemies in a victory on Ashika Island. An extremely fast TTK doesn’t come without a tradeoff. Changing the Lachman-762 to fully automatic greatly increases its recoil. So although the battle rifle’s fast TTK extends all the way out to 81 meters, it will really only be effective in short to mid-range engagements. Best Lachmann-762 Warzone 2 loaodut Here is FaZe Booya’s go-to Lachmann-762 loadout with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: Lockshot K85 (+0.80, +0.35) – Barrel: LM Aurora 90 barrel (+0.50, -0.14) – Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser (-0.27, -26.32) – Stock: Lachmann S9 Factory (-1.29, -2.25) – Magazine: 30 Round Mag – The YouTuber doesn’t believe players need a 50-round magazine, as 30 bullets are more than enough for any squad size. Try this loadout if you need a new short to medium-range weapon.

Warzone 2 expert reveals “elite” TAQ-56 loadout to dominate mid-range – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals “elite” TAQ-56 loadout to dominate mid-range ActivisonWarzone 2 veteran WhosImmortal has unveiled a new TAQ-56 loadout, which he claims has the quickest TTK possible for the battle rifle. Warzone’s 2 customizeable weapons system continue to provide new and exciting “meta loadouts” for the game’s players to experiment with. Various pro players, content creators, and fans have been sharing their tunings and attachments all over the internet, trying to optimize each gun for its specific profile. TAQ-56 has enjoyed being one of the premier assault rifles in Warzone 2, competing with the likes of the Kastov, and M4 for the title of best weapon in that category. Its popularity makes it a good candidate to receive a lot of different setups specializing in different fields. WhosImmortal showed off his new build in a January 7 video, tuned for the fastest TTK. While it sacrifices some mobility and handling in the process, its medium range capabilities are more or less unmatched. Warzone 2 TAQ-56 loadout that “fries” players “Today I have gone through, changed up my TAQ-56 setup,” he said. “Basically optimized it for the best TTK and the most consistency and versatility.” The full customization is as follows: Muzzle: Harbinger D20 – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 – Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity – Magazine: 40 Round Mag – Rear Grip: FSS Combat Grip – “This, obviously, is an iron sights setup that is very easy to use and still super clear for mid to long-range fights,” concluded the content creator. “There were plenty of 60, 70, 80-meter fights in those gameplays that I was taking with this thing.” Ideally, players interested in trying out this build for themselves in Warzone should back up their TAQ-56 primary with a submachine gun like the Fennec, or the X13 akimbo pistols. This will ensure they’re covered at close ranges where you will need something with faster ADS speed and overall mobility than the TAQ-56.

Warzone 2 expert reveals easy trick to level up weapons in Plunder – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals easy trick to level up weapons in Plunder ActivisionSeason 3 added Plunder back to Warzone 2, providing a perfect stomping ground for leveling up weapons. Plunder is finally back in Warzone 2. The fan-favorite game mode turns the traditional battle royale formula on its head. Plunder tasks squads with gathering as much in-game cash as possible, only winning when they become the first team to collect $1 million. In Warzone 2, cash can be earned by eliminating enemies, completing contracts, partaking in events, or clearing out Strongholds and Blacksites. The game mode suits a more casual playstyle, as teams can technically win without ever needing to engage in a gunfight. In WZ1 some players queued in to level up weapons quickly, and the LA Guerillas argued it’s just as effective in the battle royale sequel. How to level up weapons fast in Warzone 2 Plunder The LA Guerillas claimed that players are wasting their time leveling up weapons. In a TikTok, they recommended using Plunder to reach high levels quicker. First, players should start a Safecracker contract. After opening the first two safes, players must equip the weapon they want to level up for XP. One Safecracker contract is equivalent to 3200 XP or about 3 levels. The LA Guerillas claimed that a solo player can complete up to four Safecracker contracts in one match, earning 12 or 24 weapon levels if they are using a double weapon XP token. Fortuntaley, Plunder isn’t typically as challenging as the standard battle royale experience, which the LA Guerillas pointed out. “The best part is you have unlimited lives, and it is super chill.” Finally, after completing all of the Safecracker contracts, players can earn extra XP by buying armor plates. Every 100,000$ spent on plates is one extra level. The TikToker claimed that players will have around $500,000 if they follow the strategy correctly. If you are struggling to level up weapons in Modern Warfare 2 or Warzone 2, give this method a spin.

Warzone 2 expert reveals “easy to use” SMG with super fast TTK – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals “easy to use” SMG with super fast TTK ActivisonWarzone 2 expert WhosImmortal has revealed an “easy to use” SMG with a dominant TTK that’s thriving in Season 2 Reloaded. When it comes to SMGs in Warzone 2, the majority of players opt for either the Lachmann Sub or the Vaznev-9k. While both these guns are extremely strong, their popularity does lead the community to overlook a lot of other powerful options. Identifying these top-tier forgotten picks will keep you one step ahead of the meta and allow you to catch your opponents off-guard. Well, Warzone 2 YouTuber WhosImmortal believes they’ve found an SMG that deserves more attention and is equipped with a lethal TTK. Best BAS-P loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Laser: VLK LZR 7MW – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – Magazine: 50-Round Drum – Ammunition: 9mm Overpressured +P – Rear Grip: Bruen Flash Grip – After receiving buffs to its damage range and sprint to fire speed in Season 2 Reloaded, WhosImmortal believes the BAS-P is now “surprisingly good” in the current meta. Providing a lot more versatility than a typical SMG, the gun can perform at close quarters and at mid-range. Not only that, the weapon is “easy to use” and has a “competitive TTK” so it can keep up with the Lachmann and Vaznev. WhosImmortal’s build is all about maximizing ADS time for locking onto targets and pushing the SMG’s mobility to the limit. Topic starts at 7:50 With just a 0.5% pick rate in the current meta, it’s safe to say the BAS-P is being slept on by the community and could be the gun to take your gameplay to the next level. Although sticking to the most popular picks is effective, it’s a lot more fun to experiment with underrated weapons, and doing so always has the potential to surprise your opponent with a gun they rarely see.

Warzone 2 expert reveals “dominant” Lachmann-762 loadout for Season 2 – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals “dominant” Lachmann-762 loadout for Season 2 ActivisionWarzone 2 expert WhosImmortal is back with a Warzone 2 Lachmann-762 build that rivals the best weapons in the game after the Season 2 update. WhosImmortal is one of the most trusted names in the Warzone 2 community. His loadout tips and expert insight keep fans coming back every time he’s got something new to say. He’s been on top of the WZ2 meta since the game dropped, and while LMGs (like the RPK and the Sakin MG38) still rule the roost for the most part, Immortal has found a Lachmann 762 build that’s absolutely lethal for those who prefer the feel of the battle rifle. WhosImmortal’s Warzone 2 Lachmann-762 loadout The catch with the Lachmann-762 is that it’s a much more viable option when used in full-auto mode. Warzone 2’s battle rifles are typically thought of as single-shot weapons, the extra recoil while automatic is worth the enhanced TTK. Some of the best guns in Warzone 2 got nerfed at the start of Season 2 as well, meaning the Lachmann’s shortcomings don’t stand out as much as they once did. Here’s what Immortal believes players should be using: Optic: Cronen Mini Pro (-1.35, -2.25) – Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40 (+0.48, +0.21) – Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40 (-0.35, -0.23) – Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity (+0.43, +5.76) – Magazine: 30-Round Mag – All of these attachments and their tunings are focused on controlling the strong bounce that would otherwise be present. The Cronen Mini Pro is also tuned to make up for a little bit of speed. The combined power of the Sakin Tread-40 and the Lockgrip Precision-40 will keep things nicely in line, though it might take a little bit of work before it truly feels comfortable. Thankfully, the High-Velocity rounds and the 30-Round Mag make it less punishing during that process. Players will want to take this into firing range to get used to the unfamiliar recoil before landing on Al Mazrah or Ashika Island if this is their first time trying it.

Warzone 2 expert reveals deadly sniper loadout still dominates after nerfs – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals deadly sniper loadout still dominates after nerfs ActivisionWarzone 2 expert Metaphor has revealed a deadly loadout for the SP-X 80 sniper that still has one-shot potential even after the recent nerf. Sniping has always been such a big part of Call of Duty that it was always going to play a significant role in Warzone too. That’s been the case since the Verdansk days, but the weapon class has also had its ups and downs recently too. The early days of Warzone 2 were slightly rough for snipers, seeing as many players claimed they were underpowered. Though, it didn’t take long for one-shot builds to shine through. However, it was also a pretty quick turnaround in the devs nerfing those as well. Despite that, there is at least one sniper that has the potential to down an enemy in one shot – and while it won’t fully finish them off, it will leave them as a sitting duck. That is, of course, the SP-X 80. Best SP-X 80 loadout for Warzone 2 Season 2 Warzone YouTuber Metaphor highlighted the sniper in his March 2 video, noting that it still packs a fair punch in gunfights, even if snipers as a whole were nerfed recently. “Snipers do not one-shot anymore but loadout is extremely good and if you are good at sniping, you are going to be able to make it work,” he said. The YouTuber’s build is slightly different from the meta loadout for the SP-X 80, given that he opts for the 18.5’ Bryson LR factory barrel and FSE OLE-V Laser instead of the Nilsound 90 muzzle and Cronen Zero-P Optic. Barrel: 18.5’ Bryson LR factory – Laser: FSE OLE-V – Ammunition: .300 High Velocity – Stock: Max DMR Precision – Rear Grip: Schlager Match Grip – The SP-X 80 has dropped off a bit when it comes to the sniper meta, sitting comfortably behind the Signal 50, MCPR-300, and a few others. Though, the fact it does have the potential to be even more powerful than those should mean it jumps up a few spots before long.

Warzone 2 expert reveals “completely overpowered” AR loadout to replace RPK – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals “completely overpowered” AR loadout to replace RPK ActivisonWarzone 2 guru Metaphor has unveiled a loadout for a completely overpowered AR now that the “RPK is gone” in Season 2. The February 24 update completely shook up Warzone 2’s meta, among other changes the RPK and Fennec have been hit with nerfs which resulted in a big hit to these weapons’ popularity. With some of Warzone 2’s meta weapons falling out of favor, new weapons are climbing the ladder to become the most popular among the players, one such is the new ISO Hemlock, a very promising assault rifle that has been already banned from ranked play. YouTuber Metaphor proposed a loadout for Hemlock that in his own words is “completely overpowered”, and now that RPK was nerfed in a recent update, could overtake it in popularity. Best ISO Hemlock loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Muzzle: XTN Havoc 90 – Barrel: Fielder-T50 – Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity – Stock: Mace 600 – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – Metaphor explained that he thinks ISO Hemlock is among the best Assault Rifles or even guns overall currently in the game. “I just think this thing is an absolute beam, this thing is carrying Warzone for me right now big time, I have been having so much fun with this gun, it’s absolutely overpowered,” said the content creator about the ISO Hemlock. The assault rifle has a rapid TTK at medium ranges and a very generous recoil, the build above focuses on furthering its range and damage falloff. Some attachments also improve the gun’s already great accuracy and recoil control. For bigger squad games or higher intensity matches like Resurgence it’s recommended to swap out the optic or the stock for a higher capacity magazine. That said, you’ll still want either a submachine gun like the Lachmann Sub, or a secondary pistol to cover close range where Hemlock can be beaten. The gun is currently pushing the 8% pick rate according to WZRanked, and that number is only growing with each day.

Warzone 2 expert reveals best underbarrel for recoil control – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals best underbarrel for recoil control ActivisionWebsite sym.gg revealed precise stats for each attachment in Modern Warfare 2 and WhosImmortal unearthed the best underbarrel for recoil control. Modern Warfare 2 provides players with more Gunsmith customization options than in previous titles. You can equip up to five attachments at a time, and there are well over 100 attachments to mix and match. On top of that, attachment tuning allows players to change the behavior of individual attachments for different types of playstyles. With so much at a player’s disposal, it can be overwhelming trying to pick the right attachment and correct tuning values. CoD YouTuber WhosImmortal and sym.gg did the heavy legwork for us, providing exact stats to make building the perfect loadout easier. WhosImmortal compares every underbarrel in MW2 WhosImmortal broke down which underbarrel players should use. Recoil control is extra important in Warzone 2, as players need to be accurate while engaging in a long-range gunfight. Multiple underbarrels improve recoil control, but it’s almost impossible to choose one without exact values. “An issue that we have had up until this point in time is the attachment stats not fully being available.” For example, an attachment may increase recoil steadiness, while decreasing aim down sight speed, and aiming stability. MW2 doesn’t tell you exact values, so if another attachment has the same pros and cons, it’s impossible to know which is better. Fortunately, sym.gg unveiled exact values for attachment movement speed, recoil, and sway stats. WhosImmortal used the website and compared every underbarrel on the M4. After going through each attachment one by one, the YouTuber pointed out the Commando Foregrip, FTAC Ripper 56, and the Lockgrip Precision-40. “In terms of using an underbarrel for control, these are clearly the three standouts in terms of getting good percentages for your actual recoil control which makes the gun easier to use, but also not having extra cons to forward, strafe, and ADS time speed.” Here are the individual stats for each recommended underbarrel. sym.gg describes view kick as “the most common type of recoil,” which moves the camera and point of aim simultaneously. While gun kick moves the gun off the center of the screen and changes the point of where you are aiming. Try these underbarrels for yourself and go with whichever one feels best in-game.

Warzone 2 expert reveals “best TTK” close-range build that’s as good as the meta Fennec – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals “best TTK” close-range build that’s as good as the meta Fennec ActivisonWarzone 2 veteran WhosImmortal has revealed a new Chimera build which he claims has the “best TTK” at close range, comparable to even the Fennec which is currently the meta gun for short-distance gun fights. Despite being in the game since mid-December 2022, the Chimera was not utilized much by Warzone 2 players. According to WZ Ranked, this weapon was sitting at a 1,6% pick rate at the start of January. But it seems more and more people recognize the potential of this close-range assault rifle as the weapon is gaining popularity, reaching almost a 3% pick rate as of January 18. WhosImmortal, an expert Warzone 2 content creator, claims that this weapon can even go toe to toe with the absolutely meta-dominant submachine gun, the Fennec. His January 21 video details which specific build this Call of Duty veteran had in mind. Timestamp – 9:07 Warzone 2 “best TTK” Chimera build “You get a nice balance of control and speed here, making this thing obviously ridiculously consistent,” said WhosImmortal while showcasing the weapon. The content creator then added: “And as we saw its TTK can hold its own even now against the Fennec. So, a great, great, close-range choice.” The full customization is as follows: Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 – Barrel: 6.5″ EXF Vorpal – Laser: VLK LZR 7MW – Magazine: 45 Round Mag – Rear grip: Bruen Flash Grip – The interesting thing to note is the usage of the barrel, an attachment that many content creators for Warzone 2 usually forgo, in favor of a muzzle. But WhosImmortal thinks it is great to have for damage range and mobility combo. Players interested in trying out this Chimera blueprint for themselves in should back up their close-range primary with a ranged option like the RPK light machinegun, or the TAQ V battle rifle.

Warzone 2 expert reveals best meta Tempus Torrent loadout in Season 2 Reloaded – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals best meta Tempus Torrent loadout in Season 2 Reloaded ActivisonWarzone 2 guru WhosImmortal has unveiled the strongest loadout for the brand new Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle in Season 2 Reloaded. Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2’s Season 2 Reloaded patch arrived on March 15 and introduced a huge amount of new content to the game. One of the most significant additions is Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle which thrives in medium to long-range gunfights. While you could spend hours experimenting with the weapon to find the strongest meta setup and build, sometimes it’s better to let an expert do the thinking for you. Luckily, Warzone 2 YouTuber WhosImmortal created a top-tier loadout for the Tempus Torrent, so you can dominate your foes with the new gun. Best Tempus Torrent loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Barrel: 24″ Outreach 4 – Muzzle: Polarfire-S – Underbarrel: Edge-47 Grip – Magazine: 30-Round Mag – Optic: Schlager 3.4x – In the semi-automatic category, WhosImmortal believes the Tempus Torrent can be a true contender as it’s more of an “aggressive” option when compared to its counterparts. He does note that in order to effectively use this weapon, you will need to be accurate with your shots, otherwise, it will always be better to use a full auto gun. Despite this, the Tempus can kill “very quickly” when you land your shots and its “powerful” TTK is only amplified when you make the most of headshot multipliers. In WhosImmortal’s build, he aims to push the rifle’s TTK to the max, while also bolstering the Tempus’ recoil and adding an extra level of stability. Topic starts at 4:38 We recommend you utilize Overkill alongside the Tempus so you have access to a strong SMG for close-quarter gunfights. Only time will tell how dominant the new Marksman Rifle will be in the meta, but it certainly has the potential to be powerful in Season 2 Reloaded.

Warzone 2 expert reveals best “low recoil” loadout for “deadly” ISO Hemlock – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals best “low recoil” loadout for “deadly” ISO Hemlock ActivisonWarzone 2 guru TrueGameData has unveiled the best “low recoil” loadout for the brand new ISO Hemlock AR, making it “deadly” at medium to long range. Warzone 2’s Season 2 update is live and the patch brought a huge amount of new content for the community to check out. Of course, the main focus for players is still identifying the best meta loadouts to dominate their opponents and rack up countless kills in their matches. So, with the new ISO Hemlock arriving in the arsenal, various builds are being tested to push the AR to its limits and see if it can compete with the other top-tier options. Well, Warzone 2 expert TrueGameData believes they’ve found the number one setup that transforms the weapon into a “low recoil” laser beam that’s “deadly” at mid-range. Best ISO Hemlock Warzone 2 loadout Attachments Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40 – Magazine: 45-Round Mag – Optic: Schlager 3.4X – Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser – Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity – According to TrueGameData, the biggest strength of the ISO Hemlock is the gun’s minimal recoil which makes it extremely easy to control. Similar to the TAQ-56, it may not have the most dominant TTK at long range, but the lack of kickback makes it simple to land every single bullet and maximize your damage output. The build above focuses on achieving exactly that, pushing the gun’s stability to its limits while also boosting its bullet velocity. This results in an easy-to-use AR that’s incredibly versatile and would be perfect when paired up with a meta SMG like the Fennec 45 or the Lachmann Sub. Topic starts 7:34 Following the Season 2 update, guns like the Sakin MG38 and RPK are the dominant picks, but if you struggle to control their recoil, the ISO Hemlock could be your number-one choice. Sometimes it’s better to sacrifice damage potential for stability, especially when you’re battling an enemy in a high-pressure skirmish, it’s absolutely vital you land every single shot.

Warzone 2 expert reveals “best AR” to use in Season 3 – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals “best AR” to use in Season 3 ActivisionWarzone 2 content creator and expert Metaphor has revealed his STB 556 loadout which he believes is the “best AR” to use in Season 3. The Season 3 update for Warzone 2 saw the battle royale game undergo a notable meta shift. Previously favored guns like the ISO Hemlock and Chimera have become less popular with others taking their place. Following the update the Warzone 2 community has been trying to figure out what the new meta is with several popular weapons being trialed. The Kastov 762, Cronen Squall, and M4 have all seen considerable playtime but Metaphor has concluded that the best assault rifle is something entirely different. Metaphor’s STB 556 loadout in Warzone 2 Season 3 Warzone 2 expert Metaphor has revealed an STB 556 loadout that he describes as the “best AR,” to use in Season 3. Speaking on the loadout Metaphor described his STB 556 as being “incredibly easy to use,” and capable of “dealing a lot of damage.” Metaphor’s STB 556 loadout focuses on reducing recoil whilst improving the gun’s damage range and bullet velocity. The attachments used help make the STB 556 equally strong when used at both close range and from afar. Muzzle: Komodo Heavy – Barrel: 24.4″ Bruen S-620 – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity – Magazine: 42 Round Mag – According to WZ Ranked, the STB 556 is the ninth most popular gun in Warzone 2 with a 2.8% usage rate. That places it just above the M4 as the third most used assault rifle. Based on the real world Steyr AUG A3, the STB 556 is a highly versatile assault rifle that offers great handling and mobility plus low recoil. A combination that favors a battle royale game like Warzone 2 where flexible weapons that work well in a wide range of situations often run the meta. Warzone 2 expert reveals an underrated rifle that “beats every SMG” at close range – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals an underrated rifle that “beats every SMG” at close range ActivisionWhosImmortal has showcased a rifle loadout that in his words, can challenge any SMG at close range in Season 2 of Warzone 2. Warzone 2’s Season 3 is fast approaching with a promise of balance changes to shake up the already somewhat solidified meta. But before that update drops players and content creators are still trying to one-up one another, searching for the ideal attachment and weapon combinations to make securing a victory in the battle royale a breeze. An excellent example of finding such a hidden gem is an April 8 video from content creator WhosImmortal, who unveiled a loadout for the STB 556 assault rifle that “utilizes the rifles iron sight for close and medium-ranged combat “beats every SMG” at close range according to the content creator. WhosImmortal’s STB 556 loadout in Warzone 2 WhosImmortal explained that he thinks his STB 556 loadout makes the weapon very versatile and capable of performing at different ranges. Attachments specializing in speed and aggression help this assault rifle go toe to toe with the best Warzone 2 SMGs while still being able to outtrade opponents firing at you from longer distances. “STB 556 is a wildly practical SMG/AR hybrid when built for speed and aggression,” said the content creator about the underrated rifle. Attachments Barrel: 16.5″ Bruen S901 Barrel – Laser: VLK LZR 7MW – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – Comb: FTAC C11 Riser – Rear Grip: Bruen Q900 Grip – The assault rifle has an extremely rapid TTK at close and medium ranges, perfect for slotting it into your build as either sniper support or simply a close-range weapon. It is worth noting that WhosImmortal himself stated that he considers the optic a must-have because the iron sight of this weapon is rough. The build above focuses on enhancing its mobility and handling which is very unusual for a rifle of this kind, but it allows you to be more aggressive and to ADS and shoot after sprinting much faster. That said, you’ll still want either an AR like the meta-dominating ISO Hemlock or a sniper rifle to cover medium and long ranges where this particular loadout struggles.

Warzone 2 expert reveals a “beast” loadout for the Cronen Squall – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert reveals a “beast” loadout for the Cronen Squall ActivisionWhosImmortal has showcased a loadout for Cronen Squall that makes the BR greatly effective at medium and long ranges in the Season 3 of Warzone 2. Warzone 2’s Season 3 brought a huge variety of balance changes that shook up the game’s meta to its very core. The season also brought two brand new guns to the player’s arsenal, the Cronen Squall battle rifle and the FJX Imperium sniper rifle. WhosImmortal showcased a great build for the Cronen Squall in his May 6 video that makes the rifle a “beast,” and in Immortal’s own words: “the thing just brings the power, and then after you get used to the recoil pattern you are good to go, the thing is gonna feel nice and spicy.” WhosImmortal’s Cronen Squall loadout in Warzone 2 WhosImmortal explained that he thinks his Cronen Squall loadout makes the weapon very powerful with fast ADS time, great range, terrifying TTK, and a sizable ammo reserve. To help him achieve that the content creator outfitted the gun with attachments specializing in furthering the battle rifle’s range and accuracy, to tip those mid-range battles in your favor at the cost of the gun’s mobility and handling, making it a poor choice for close-range combat. The build is using a 50-Round drum magazine which might prove to be quite an overkill for solo matches where you don’t have to worry about multiple enemies at once but for every squad situation you definitely should stick to it. Relevant Timestamp: 9:05 Attachments Muzzle: Polarfire-S – Underbarrel: Edge-47 Grip – Ammunition: 6.8 High Velocity – Magazine: 50-Round Drum – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – The BR has an extremely rapid TTK at medium and long ranges, perfect for slotting it into your build as a primary weapon for the majority of situations in Al-Mazrah and Ashika Island. That said, you’ll still want either an SMG like the meta-dominating Vaznev-9K or a shotgun to cover close range where this particular loadout struggles to keep up with some of the more popular options.

Warzone 2 expert questions whether weapon blueprint actually does anything – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert questions whether weapon blueprint actually does anything ActivisionWhosImmortal tested a Warzone 2 M4 blueprint for pay-to-win advantages, but a lack of transparency shrouds its legitimacy in doubt. Paying money to get a leg up on the competition has drawn criticism from Warzone 2 community members. Players slammed “shameless” Season 3 DMZ bundles, awarding free UAVS, bonus perks, and more, by just pulling out a credit card. Activision slightly backtracked and nerfed one of the bundle’s abilities. The developers received more pushback when access to Building 21 in DMZ was denied. Charlieintel discovered that the locale would no longer be accessible unless they purchased MW2. The developers reassured fans that Building 21 is still free for all players, and that a bug caused these issues. Pay-to-win speculation returned to the spotlight, as an M4 weapon blueprint is rumored to do more damage than its base counterpart. WhosImmortal attempts to debunk Warzone 2 pay-to-win rumors WhosImmortal put on his detective hat and attempted to solve a Warzone 2 conspiracy theory. It was brought to his attention that the Singularity M4 weapon blueprint outperformed the base weapon. The YouTuber recalled a MAC-10 blueprint in Warzone 1 that had increased stats compared to the stock version. By going into a private match, WhosImmortal compared the two M4s to see if there was a pay-to-win advantage. He concluded that the damage to the head, torso, and limbs was the same. Next, the YouTuber fired both weapons at a wall and concluded they had the same recoil pattern. WhosImmortal found no differences through testing, but that isn’t enough to make a definitive case. The developers do not reveal information on attachment tuning for weapon blueprints, and the YouTuber believes that’s an issue. “The problem is that I tuned this for the most optimal way to tune weapons, but because the Singularity is a Pro-Tuned blueprint, I don’t know how they are tuning this.” The bars in the bottom left of the Gunsmith screen indicate damage, range, and other key stats, but the YouTuber argued that those stats are never accurate either. “There is a lack of transparency that doesn’t give us a clear answer on whether this blueprint is pay-to-win.” Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to discern whether or not the weapon blueprint gives players an advantage, but we’ll keep you updated if that changes.

Warzone 2 expert pleads for lethal grenade and launcher restrictions in Ranked Play – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert pleads for lethal grenade and launcher restrictions in Ranked Play ActivisionIceManIsaac used video evidence to explain why launchers and lethal grenade spam should be banned in Warzone 2 Ranked Play. Infinity Ward controversially introduced backpacks as a new feature in Warzone 2. Players stored items like plates, ammo, killstreaks, and field upgrades in either medium or large backpacks. However, many abused backpacks and filled them to the brim with kill streaks. Final circles became a nightmare as kill streaks rained from the sky with nowhere to run. Infinity Ward realized the downsides of a backpack system and removed it entirely from the game as part of the Season 2 update. With much less inventory space to work with, players only have enough room now to store an extra kill streak, a few sets of plates, and ammo. Despite the change, smaller storage hasn’t stopped players from still taking advantage of the system at times. IceManIsaac exposes flaws of Warzone 2 grenade spam On August 7, IceManIsaac begged: “FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NERF THE LETHAL SPAM! Every gunfight starts like this. Nades do WAY too much damage, and the ability to stow makes it even worse.” In the video, over 10 grenades were thrown into the room IceManIsaac and his team were sitting in. The problem stems from players being able to hold two grenades at once and also stow pairs of two in their inventory. Along with restricting grenade launchers in Ranked Play, the streamer also demanded: “GET RID OF THE STAGGER FROM EXPLOSIVES! It’s bad enough one semtex can knock all my plates and then some health, but on top of that, I’m stuck walking for two seconds.” Prominent Warzone 2 community members voiced a similar opinion. Warzone 2 pro player HusKerrs offered a solution: “What if they changed the number you could carry on you to 1, but you can still stow groups of 2.” IceManIsaac responded: “I think that’s a good solution! Or you just aren’t allowed to stow lethals at all. If you want to lethal spam, you need to stow an ammo box.” Fellow Warzone 2 competitor TheTacticalBrit added: “Warzone is just explosive spam at this point, and it’s so dragging.” It remains to be seen how the devs will respond, but Treyarch has banned items in Ranked Play before based on community feedback.

Warzone 2 expert outlines “standout” gun for Season 5 after changes – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert outlines “standout” gun for Season 5 after changes ActivisionWarzone 2 expert WhosImmortal has highlighted the “standout” SMG for Season 5 following a raft of weapon balancing changes – and it’s one that pretty much everyone has used. Like with every new season in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, the devs behind CoD’s popular battle royale decided to make a fair few weapon changes for Season 5. Alongside adding the new FR Avancer AR and .300 Carrack Sniper, the Cronen Squall and Lachmann Sub, the two go-to weapons throughout Season 4, were hit with pretty sizable nerfs from the devs. Additionally, adjustments were made to a handful of LMGs and assault rifles too, but it was SMGs that got the most treatment. Aside from the nerf to the Lachmann, the MX9, Minibak, VEL-46, Fennec, and ISO 45 were given different buffs. Though, it’s the ISO that standouts the most. ISO 45 is best SMG for Warzone 2 Season 5 That’s right, WhosImmortal is tipping the ISO 45 to be the go-to SMG for at least the early part of Warzone 2 Season 5, even though some players are sticking with the Lachmann Sub and VEL 46. The YouTuber pointed to the Lachmann Sub’s “severe” dropoff after 15 meters as one of the key reasons that the ISO is now the go-to. Though, the Lachmann is still deadly in close-range fights. “It makes the ISO the clear number one choice now for SMGs,” he said. “Right now, there’s no reason not to use the ISO. As good as the close-range meta is, outside of the ISO, this nerf to the MP5 but not the ISO makes this by far and away my go-to choice.” Timestamp of 7:35 WhosImmortal noted that he “expected” the ISO to be nerfed but that didn’t happen so, now, it’s the “standout” option. The SMG has always had a solid standing in the meta, but if it becomes too dominant, expect the ISO to get adjusted later on in the season – perhaps around Season 5 Reloaded.

Warzone 2 expert outlines fastest-killing LMG loadout that dominates Season 2 – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert outlines fastest-killing LMG loadout that dominates Season 2 ActivisionCall of Duty YouTuber IceManIsaac has revealed a loadout for the Raal MG that is statistically the “fastest-killing” primary weapon in Warzone 2, and it’s even better than the RPK. Even though Warzone 2 isn’t totally new at this point, the meta of the battle royale is still a little in flux as players haven’t been totally able to decide on the best weapon in the game. Prior to the Season 2 update, which brought Ashika Island and the return of the Resurgence mode, the RPK had become the go-to for many players, but it received a substantial nerf in that update. That has led to its pick rate cratering, while the likes of the Sakin MG38, Lachmann Sub, and ISO Hemlock have risen up. There’s also another weapon in that small group of upstarts that can lay claim to being the best in the game – and that is the Raal MG. Best RAAL LMG loadout for Warzone Season 2 That’s according to Warzone 2 guru IceManIsaac, who highlighted the “absurd” LMG in his February 28 video as being the “fastest-killing” primary weapon in the battle royale. “It kills like 38% faster than the RPK and I don’t know why no one is talking about it,” he said, noting that the gun is a “laser” and makes things “feel like multiplayer” with how it works. As per the stats from Sym, the YouTuber’s build has a TTK of 540ms at “any range” and blows both the RPK and Sakin out of the water. Isaac’s build is a little different from those Raal loadouts that popped up at the end of Season 1, as he utilizes the BVM-338 muzzle and FSS OLE-V Laser to nullify the LMG’s recoil. Muzzle: BVM-338 – Barrel: 21’ EXF Rhino Barrel – Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser – Optic: Aim OP-V4 – Ammunition: .338 Mag high velocity – As per WZRanked stats, the Raal has crept up to fifth in the pick rate standings and is hot on the heels of the Sakin to claim the crown as the most-popular LMG. The stats show that it is the best LMG around, so it won’t be long before others jump on the hype train and it overtakes its contemporary.

Warzone 2 expert JGOD finds weapon with “completely broken” TTK in Season 5 – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert JGOD finds weapon with “completely broken” TTK in Season 5 ActivisonWarzone 2 guru JGOD has highlighted an underrated rifle that has a “completely broken” TTK in Season 5, thanks to one smart trick. Over the last few seasons of Warzone 2, the battle royale’s meta has been dominated by just a handful of weapons – mainly the Cronen Squall. Sure, plenty of other weapons have been viable, but the Squall had been the dominant option. With the Season 5 update, the weapon pool has undergone a bit of a shake-up. Two new weapons – the FR Avancer and .300 Carrack Sniper – have been added to the mix, and a number of SMGs, and a few ARs have been given a little bit of a buff. However, there is actually one weapon that didn’t receive a buff in the new update that has seemingly benefitted most, as its TTK is now “completely broken.” Best Lachmann 762 loadout for Warzone 2 Season 5 The weapon in question? That’ll be the Lachmann 762. That’s according to JGOD’s stats anyway, as the Warzone 2 content creator has run the numbers to find the fastest-killing gun. As per his findings, the battle rifle has a base TTK of 690m/s, but if you mix in at least one headshot, that drops all the way down to 575m/s. That outguns the TAQ-V, SO-14, Rapp H, and Cronen Squall. JGOD noted that the Lachmann 762 is “ridiculously hard to use” and that you have to “manage the recoil” with the semi-auto mode because it “can get away” from players. He also believes its a solid sniper support option. Timestamp of 7:30 Barrel: Tempus GH50 – Muzzle: 15.9″ Lachmann Rapp – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 – Optic: AIM-OP V4 – Magazine: 50 Round Mag – As per WZRanked, the Lachmann has been going under the radar as the 22nd most-popular weapon in the game with around a 0.7% popularity rate. JGOD did add that it is a little “gimmicky” so maybe that’ll scare some people from using it. Though, it’s clearly a monster if you can tame it.

Warzone 2 expert IceManIsaac hits out at “smug” devs allegedly mocking movement players – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert IceManIsaac hits out at “smug” devs allegedly mocking movement players ActivisionWarzone 2 content creator IceManIsaac has taken issue with a “lead developer” on the CoD Battle Royale after they allegedly poked fun at movement-based players. With the original Warzone, we saw countless new personalities breakthrough into recognizable stars, in large part, due to their impressive gameplay skills. Be it the ability to slide cancel with ease, or simply to manipulate map geometry in unique ways, many gained an audience through their innovative approach to movement. In Warzone 2, however, with many of these systems no longer in place, the same can’t be said. Rather, viewership has only been dwindling since the sequel arrived, hitting a new all-time low of 37,518 peak viewers on Twitch on March 3, according to data on SullyGnome. In light of these changes and a more limited ceiling for innovation, IceManIsaac has taken issue with a “lead dev” as they supposedly mocked players who preferred the original and its movement systems. “There’s a developer on Twitter who was liking posts making fun of movement players,” he said during a March 8 broadcast. In the moment, Isaac refused to announce the particular employee directly, as to keep them anonymous. However, after some digging, it appears the dev in question is Infinity Ward Game Director Jack O’Hara. In short, one particular post O’Hara allegedly liked on Twitter, one that has since been unliked, argued against the skills of movement-based Warzone players. “Basically, it said ‘what am I gonna do without slide cancels and movement?’ and the response was basically ‘if you were only good with movement, maybe you weren’t good at all.’” A developer being in favor of this mentality, seemingly goes against a vast majority of the game’s biggest figures, most popular content creators, and thus, a good chunk of the remaining player base. “It’s this smugness…” he continued. “They’re just thinking, ‘these f***ing kids, they’re gonna play my game, this is a man’s game. I’m like, no motherf***er, you’re not creating something new and interesting and engaging, your game sucks. You’re not more talented for being good at Warzone 2 because you couldn’t keep up in Warzone 1. You’re lowering the common denominator.” Having recently been invited to a group chat with select developers, Isaac and Repullze both spilled the beans on particular comments from those involved. Namely, devs solidified their stance for good, stating there are no plans to “change movement anytime soon” in Warzone 2. “They think it’s balanced,” Repullze said. “What needs to change…there needs to be a drastic change at the top. If they’re seeing this and they’re okay with that, something’s wrong.”

Warzone 2 expert highlights most ‘OP’ loadout absolutely dominating Season 4 – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert highlights most ‘OP’ loadout absolutely dominating Season 4 ActivisionA Warzone 2 expert has outlined the “most overpowered” loadout for Season 4, and it includes an LMG that barely anyone was using beforehand. With the start of Warzone 2 Season 4, the developers brought about a big shake-up to the battle royale. A new map, Vondel, joined Al-Mazrah and Ashika Island in the rotation, and there were plenty of changes to weapons through buffs and nerfs. Alongside the new additions in the form of the Tempus Razorback and ISO 45 SMG, the changes to the previously dominant Cronen Squall was the most eye-catching. The Squall was hit with some big nerfs and, as a result, has completely fallen off in relation to the meta. On the flip side, the ISO 45 has quickly established as the go-to gun for many players and forms a key part of their loadout. Unsurprisingly, it’s also a part of the most ‘OP’ class setup in the battle royale’s new season, alongside an LMG that had barely gotten any love up until now. Best overall loadout in Warzone 2 Season 4 That’s according to Warzone 2 guru WhosImmortal, who outlined the ‘OP’ class in his June 26 video, which includes the ISO 45 and HCR 56. “There is not a gunfight you can take with this overall loadout here that is not in your advantage,” the YouTuber said. “You’ve got the upper hand with these two weapons. In my opinion, the new, number one, go-to overall loadout here.” With the ISO being an SMG, its strengths lay in gunfights that are within 20 meters, but the HCR also dominates there too. While it drops off a bit after that in the 20-40 meters range, the LMG has a solid TTK beyond that, matching the likes of the M13B and Raal in fights over 40 meters. HCR Muzzle: Harbinger D20 – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 – Optic: Aim OP-V4 – Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity – Rear Grip: Stip-40 Grip – ISO 45 Muzzle: Lockshot KT85 – Laser: VLK LZR 7mw – Magazine: 45-round drum – Rear Grip: EXP Shear – Stock: SK-3 Cheetah – As noted, both weapons have solid standings in the meta already. WZRanked has the ISO 45 as the most-picked gun overall with a 22% pick rate, while the HCR has crept into the top five with a 6% pick rate. Obviously, if they become a little too out of hand, the devs will likely reign them in with some changes. Though, for now, it’s best to enjoy them.

Warzone 2 expert highlights major issue with Advanced UAVs not working – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert highlights major issue with Advanced UAVs not working ActivisionWarzone 2 players have found some serious flaws with Advanced UAVs in the battle royale hit, baffled by how they work when compared to how they’re supposed to work. Getting an Advanced UAV in Warzone 2 can be absolutely huge, allowing you to see directional markers for opponents and get regular updates on where the enemy is. The killstreak has been extremely popular in Call of Duty for years now, and when it was discovered that you could earn them in Warzone as well, players quickly started saving enough cash to buy their three UAVs from the Buy Station to launch their Advanced UAV. However, in Warzone 2, many have noticed some inconsistencies in the killstreak and even slammed some of the nerfs made by developers Raven Software. Advanced UAVs not working in Warzone 2 If you’ve used the Advanced UAV much in Al Mazrah or Ashika Island, you may have noticed it not working as intended sometimes, with players fading out or randomly disappearing off of the mini-map. Now, there seems to be an explanation. As evidenced by content creator XVI, it all comes down to which weapons are being used. In a series of clips he posted to Twitter, unsilenced weapons actually fade out of the UAV after firing, while silenced weapons always remain solid on the mini-map. The issue persists when using the Ghost perk too. It’s unclear whether this is a design decision from Raven Software or simply an oversight, but needless to say, it’s left many players confused over whether this is how Advanced UAVs should work.

Warzone 2 expert exposes “major problem” with RPGs in Ranked Play – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert exposes “major problem” with RPGs in Ranked Play Infinity WardForget using an SMG as a secondary weapon. RPGs have taken over Warzone 2’s meta in Season 5, and IceManIsaac claimed, “Everyone is sick and tired of it.” Treyarch designed Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Ranked Play to be a true test of skill for competitors. As such, restrictions to weapons and items deemed too overpowered ensure an even playing field. And WZ2 players aren’t afraid to speak their minds when they believe something should be removed. For example, FifaKill bashed one shot-sniper and fire shotguns for “killing” Ranked Play. Coincidently, both weapons were removed from the game mode one day later. This came after community members celebrated Treyarch banning the Cluster Mine and Bomb Drone. Making restrictions has become common practice in the competitive game mode, and some players are ready for the next big change. IceManIsaac calls for RPG ban in Warzone 2 Ranked Play IceManIsaac admitted that after the Season 5 update, “the game is running pretty smooth, the meta is pretty much balanced, and we are starting to get some movement back.” Despite being pleased with the overall state of WZ2, the YouTuber claimed, “There is one thing plaguing Ranked and ruining people’s gameplay experience, and they refuse to patch it.” RPGs can one-shot down an enemy even if they have full plates. Several community members, such as Speros, FifaKill, and BariXxX have called for the removal of RPGs from WZ2 Ranked Play. To prove his point, IceManIsaac shared a clip from FaZe Swagg’s stream. Swagg had a perfect angle on an enemy and full plates. But one RPG shot ended his match early even after doing everything right. And, IceManIsaac explained why he has little faith in the Warzone 2 devs making a change any time soon. “They wait until it dominates the meta, the player count starts to drop, public sentiment starts to drop, and then they get proactive and start to make changes,” he said. If players want to change, the YouTuber closed by urging every player to use an RPG to show how broken they are.

Warzone 2 expert explains why you are probably tuning weapons wrong – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert explains why you are probably tuning weapons wrong ActivisionAt first glance, weapon tuning appears extremely convoluted, but CoD YouTuber WhosImmortal revealed how to utilize tuning properly. Modern Warfare 2 revamped CoD’s Gunsmith. Weapons in CoD Vanguard had 10 attachments, making it an absolute nightmare to mix and match until finally achieving balance. MW2 simplified editing weapons, cutting it down to five attachments, but added an extra layer of nuance with weapon tuning. Infinity Ward temporarily disabled weapon tuning just a few days after MW2’s launch and reintroduced it around a week later. Lack of coverage and a temporary removal made weapon tuning an afterthought in the minds of some community members, but players are beginning to see the feature’s untapped potential. Weapon tuning allows players to customize weapon attachments and alter their attributes. If done correctly, the new system is a game changer for Warzone 2 loadouts, and WhosImmortal gave a full rundown. WhosImmortal breaks weapon tuning To unlock weapon tuning you need to reach the weapon’s max level. From there, you will see a Tune button above-equipped attachments, where you will find a radar graph and two adjustable slider bars. For example, the image above shows a slider that can be adjusted to improve recoil stabilization or ADS speed, depending on how you want to use the weapon. Some content creators have suggested maxing out ADS speed, for example, on attachments in loadout videos, but WhosImmortal advised against that in his latest YouTube video. “Things are not linear when you are going up and down and left or right. Meaning if you go all the way up, it doesn’t mean you are getting the most recoil. Or going all the way to the right doesn’t mean you are getting the best range.” WhosImmortal claimed “every attachment has a different sweet spot,” and players need to use the graph to find the best settings. The YouTuber explained that you are actually doing more harm than good if you decrease stats in favor of others. For example, if you increase an attachment’s accuracy, move the slider until the radar graph moves inwards for other categories. Keep these steps in mind when making your next Warzone 2 loadout.

Warzone 2 expert explains why suppressors are “useless” after secret update – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert explains why suppressors are “useless” after secret update ActivisonWarzone 2 added a secret update that affected suppressors which has the potential to shake up the battle royale’s meta. Modern Warfare 2 reinvented how the mini-map functions. In previous CoD titles, using a suppressor on a weapon would remove you from the map when firing. MW2 did away with all red dots on the mini-map, whether the player is using a suppressed weapon or not. Community members slammed the decision to remove red dots from the mini-map and demanded a change. A UAV bypasses everything and displays red dots on the mini-map. The Ghost perk is intended to hide players from UAVs, but a bug prevented the perk from working correctly, which drove community members mad. Amidst a wave of backlash, the developers doubled down on their decision to remove red dots. Unbeknownst to players, the developers also removed red dots from Warzone 2’s compass without explicitly communicating the change. CoD YouTuber WhosImmortal explained how the decision impacts building loadouts. WhosImmortal warns players about suppressors after Warzone 2 update Suppressors lost their luster after the Modern Warfare 2 mini-map update. The attachment is designed to hide players while firing but no longer fulfills that duty. In Warzone 2, suppressors suffer a similar fate as UAVs reveal enemies whether they have a suppressor equipped or not. At the launch of WZ2, suppressors hid you from the compass at the top of the screen while firing, but WhosImmortal claimed a stealth update removed all red dots from the compass. Suppressors have the added bonus of improving damage range, recoil control, and bullet velocity, but WhosImmortal argued, “for mid-range and close-range, where velocity and accuracy isn’t always a huge deal, I feel like this update has made suppressors completely useless.” While editing a pistol or SMG loadout, the YouTuber recommended dropping a suppressor and replacing it with an attachment that improves ADS speed, mobility, or ammo capacity. “The suppressors previously were able to keep you off the compass, but now it doesn’t really matter, so you might as well make the most of your close-range guns.” WhosImmortal still believes suppressors are viable for long-range weapons but urged players to think twice before building a loadout.

Warzone 2 expert explains why PC players should use a PS5 controller – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert explains why PC players should use a PS5 controller ActivisionBesides the added benefit of aim assist, Warzone 2 expert TrueGameData revealed another reason to use a PS5 controller on PC. CoD community members didn’t regularly engage in aim assist debates until Warzone launched in 2021. Bugs plagued previous CoD PC ports, and small player base numbers made the franchise more of a mainstay on console. An influx of mouse and keyboard players has amplified complaints over the past two years. Input lag is the amount of time it takes the button or key that was hit to perform the action in the game you’re playing. For example, in Warzone, you may hit the fire button, but it could take up to a few milliseconds for the game to register that you actually hit the button. CDL Pro ‘Dashy’ spoke out over his disapproval of aim assist, and Warzone pro, HusKerrs said he might switch to controller due to “broken” aim assist. Warzone 2 expert backs PS5 controller over mouse and keyboard Warzone 2 expert TrueGameData explained why input lag is another reason PC players should consider making the jump to controller. TrueGameData conducted an input lag test for Warzone 1 and 2 by using a high-speed camera, recording himself moving the stick, and pressing down on the trigger. He concluded, “There is really no difference between Warzone 1 and Warzone 2 in terms of input lag.” However, the PS5 controller outperforming mouse and keyboard and Xbox controllers did surprise the YouTuber. “I was really surprised by the mouse input lag. It was pretty well known already that the Xbox One and Xbox Elite controllers were a little slower than the PS5 controllers.” Here are some of the input lag delay numbers for controllers and mouse and keyboard. All figures are in milliseconds. Mouse (G Pro Superlight Wireless): WZ 1 (31.3) WZ2 (32.1) – Keyboard (Wooting 60HE. Tachyon Mode) WZ1 (20) WZ2 (19.6) – Xbox One controller trigger: WZ 1 (23.8) WZ2 (28.3) – Xbox Elite S2 controller trigger: WZ1 (37.5) WZ2 (32.5) – PS5 controller trigger: WZ1 (28.8) WZ2 (27.9) – PS5 overclocked controller trigger: WZ1 (21.7) WZ2 (26.3) – PS5 overclocked controller stick: WZ1 (17.5) WZ2 (20.4) – TrueGameData specifically looked at the massive gap between using a PS5 overclocked controller and an Xbox One controller. “That’s absolutely worth trying to make a swap for, that’s a really big difference.” If you are on PC and in search of finding a leg up on opponents, switching to a PS5 controller may be exactly what you have been looking for.

Warzone 2 expert explains why “everyone hates” the new DMZ mission – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert explains why “everyone hates” the new DMZ mission ActivisionWarzone 2 Season 2 introduced a whole host of new missions for DMZ and one of which might take a lot of time and patience. The Warzone 2 Season 2 update delivered plenty of fresh content for DMZ fans. Gameplay-wise, Activision adjusted the difficulty of AI, including the number of enemies spawning and the accuracy of AI at range. The seasonal update also adds a new Faction and introduces Ashika Island as a playable map. Season 2 features a progress wipe, resetting mission progress, contraband weapon inventories, and key stashes. DMZ players were reluctant to the change but came around when they learned that insured weapon slots remain unlocked. DMZ’s new missions were designed to utilize all three exclusion zones. Unfortunately, one mission spanning across Al Mazrah and Ashika Island has caused more than a few headaches for community members. Season 2 DMZ mission stuns Warzone 2 YouTubers Warzone 2 YouTubers Stodeh and Westie attempted to complete the new Season 2 DMZ missions together. DMZ is designed for 22 teams of three, but the pair are more than capable of handling missions a man down. However, they ran into quite a bit of trouble attempting to complete the new White Lotus mission called ‘Break Check.’ The mission’s first step is locating the crash site near Zaya Observatory on Al Mazrah. Once players find the Ashika Security Hard drive located near the crashed car on the outskirts of the Observatory, they need to extract it. Because the mission is new, multiple teams will try to complete it simultaneously. Stodeh and Westie took out an unsuspecting team that did the hard work for them and extracted the hard drive as numerous other squads tried to stop them. “This is actually a really hard mission,” Stodeh claimed after extracting the hard drive. From there, squads take the hard drive to Ashika Island and drop it off at the Deadrop in the underground cave system. The difficult part is that if you die, you need to go back to Al Mazrah and start over again. The pair of YouTubers completed the mission on their first try, but it’s certainly not for the faint of heart.

Warzone 2 expert explains why DMZ Season 2 went too far “the wrong way” – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert explains why DMZ Season 2 went too far “the wrong way” Infinity WardDMZ established a passionate fan base in Warzone 2’s first season, yet Westie explains why the game mode misstepped in Season 2. Warzone 2 introduced DMZ as a new game mode, taking inspiration from extraction shooters such as Escape from Tarkov. Fans praised Infinity Ward for providing a unique experience separate from a traditional battle royal. The Season 2 update added fresh content, including a new map, missions, and the mode’s first-ever progress wipe. The update also made missions easier, adjusted AI spawning, and ensured AI enemies no longer shred through players at range. DMZ expert Westie tried the new seasonal content and explained why Season 2 failed to entice new players. Westie bashes DMZ Season 2 Westie went on a short rant about the current state of DMZ. This isn’t the first time he exposed the game mode for his shortcomings, as he recently called out the developers for neglecting to fix a weapon blueprint glitch. This time, the YouTuber focused on what changed in DMZ after the Season 2 update. “They removed one of the best and most clutch features.” The patch notes did not mention a change, but players can no longer jump through the blades on top of the extraction helicopter. The feature made it easy to pull off a last-second extraction, but now squads need to be more precise if they want to land on top of the chopper. Westie added that challenging players will result in “pretty awesome ending moments,” but it still goes down as one of the many “downgrades” in the post-seasonal update. The developers also removed easy access to room 302 in Al Sawa hotel, which provided high-tier loot, and made it harder to differentiate between keys. Westie called out the developers for failing to improve AI spawn and damage consistency, claiming that AI either kills in two shots or barely does damage. “It’s unfortunate that Season 2 could have been a really good reset point for DMZ to kick start the mode, but so far, we are just playing the same semi-broken beta version of the mode with a new map and missions.” Lastly, the YouTuber criticized Season 2 missions for being too easy. Despite the mode’s shortcomings, Westie concluded, “it’s still fun to play, and there’s some really good stuff.”

Warzone 2 expert explains how to “never miss again” in a gunfight – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert explains how to “never miss again” in a gunfight ActivisionAccuracy and bullet velocity are essential in Warzone 2, and the LA Guerillas explained how to maximize both categories. “Skill-based hit registration” is one of the biggest myths in Warzone 2. Skill-based hit registration relates to whether or not bullets hit an enemy based on skill level. WZ2 developers have not confirmed whether or not the feature exists, but some content creators believe they need to be more accurate in order to hit their target. In reality, these perceived “ghost bullets” come down to the bullet velocity and the damage range of a weapon. Al Mazrah’s desert landscape emphasizes long-range combat, and having the right loadout could be the difference between life and death. The Los Angeles Guerillas explained how to fix “ghost bullets” and revealed four attachments to help players never miss a shot again. Warzone 2 expert reveals best attachments for long-range combat. The LA Guerillas explained why maximizing bullet velocity and damage range is important in Warzone 2. In Warzone 2, ARs reign supreme, and this guide is dedicated to building the best possible long-range loadout. The TikToker explained, “The higher the bullet velocity, the faster your bullet reaches the target.” Decreasing recoil is essential for creating a strong loadout, but maximizing bullet velocity and damage range is just as crucial. The LA critical listed the XTEN RR-40, Echoless-80, and Polarfire-S as the three best suppressors to give players the best possible bullet velocity and range. Players can go one step further by equipping high-velocity ammunition to increase the weapon’s bullet velocity even more. According to sym.gg, the Echoless-80 suppressor on the TAQ-56 increases the AR’s muzzle velocity by 190 milliseconds. And if you use an XTEN RR-40 on the Fennec, the SMG’s muzzle velocity improves by 90 milliseconds. Both attachments negatively impact aim-down-sight speed as well, but an increase in range and bullet velocity makes the tradeoff more than worth it.

Warzone 2 expert discovers “devastating” trick to eliminate enemies – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert discovers “devastating” trick to eliminate enemies ActivisionIceManIsaac found a new use for a redeploy balloon during a Warzone 2 Ranked Play match, ruining the day of an unlucky player. Warzone Pacific’s second season introduced redeploy balloons across Caldera. These allowed players to zipline up to a floating balloon and then glide from a significant height to wherever they chose. Portable Redeploy Balloons allowed players to carry the useful item with them for whenever they needed to get out of a pinch. Apex Legends inspired its creation, enabling players to reposition and exponentially increase gameplay speed. Warzone 2 changed balloons to drones and introduced the feature to Ashika Island in Season 2. Activision also added redeploy drones to Al Mazrah, and IceManIsaac used them to his advantage. Warzone 2 community members shocked by redeploy drone kill Players can shoot down redeploy drones in Warzone 2 to prevent other players from using them. IceManIsaac shot down a redeploye drone, and it just so happened to land on the head of an unsuspecting foe and actually eliminated them. Isaac was shocked by the unimaginable kill and didn’t even know how to react. He gasped and then went speechless, trying to comprehend what had just happened. The YouTuber later Tweeted: “I wanted to freak out at the moment and explain what happened, but the boys were locked in.” Warzone 2 Senior Creative Director Ted Timmins pleaded: “We need to see the kill cam of this. Please, if it was you, share! Community members couldn’t fathom how the victim must have reacted. “I wonder what his controller looked like after this.” A third user added: “Imagine seeing the redeploy falling towards you when your last up.” This certainly isn’t the intended use for redeploy drones, but at least we know it’s possible now. The next time you are in a Warzone 2 Ranked Play match, it may be worth keeping your head on a swivel to avoid a similar disaster.

Warzone 2 expert claims underused SMG is “overpowered” at close-range – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert claims underused SMG is “overpowered” at close-range ActivisionWarzone 2 guru Metaphor has unveiled an “overpowered” loadout for an underrated SMG that has the potential to compete with the meta Fennec 45. While Warzone 2 is still in its early stages, a select set of weapons have already secured their spot as part of the Season 1 meta. This is certainly true for SMGs, with the Fennec 45 and Lachmann Sub rising up as the most dominant choices. Despite this, their popularity has led a lot of the community to overlook other powerful options that have the potential to dominate Al Mazrah. Well, Warzone 2 guru Metaphor has highlighted an underused SMG that they think is “insane” at close quarters and is capable of “outgunning” any opponent. Best Vaznev-9k loadout in Warzone 2 Attachments Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser – Stock: Markeev R7 Stock – Rear Grip: True Tac Grip – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 – Magazine: 45-Round Mag – For Metaphor, the Vaznev-9k is being slept on in Warzone 2 and with the loadout above, it feels “overpowered” for racking up kills on Al Mazrah. With a lethal TTK and a huge amount of mobility, the Vaznev is an extremely versatile SMG that can deal with an entire squad thanks to the 45-Round Mag. While Metaphor does concede that the Vaznev may come up short in a 1v1 versus a Fennec 45 user, it will always be more powerful than the meta option in extended gunfights involving more than one foe. Not only that, Metaphor believes the Vaznev is more “reliable” than the Fennec overall and even has a better reload, so it’s well worth testing this out if you’re looking for a new SMG. Topic starts at 0:56 Although the Vaznev is still being used by some Warzone 2 players, it only has a 1.2% pick rate overall according to WZRanked. This puts it in the middle of the pack in terms of popularity and with how much potential this weapon has, it definitely deserves some more attention. So, don’t wait for the rest of the community to catch on, use the Vaznev now and get a step ahead of the crowd.

Warzone 2 expert claims underused attachment makes every gun “much easier to use” – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert claims underused attachment makes every gun “much easier to use” ActivisionWarzone 2 YouTuber and statistician WhosImmortal has pinpointed a forgotten underbarrel attachment, which he claims makes every weapon in the BR “so much easier to use”. Warzone 2 has a huge amount of weapons, attachments and tuning options for players to explore as they craft their strongest loadouts. While it’s come in for some criticism for being “overcomplicated”, others have welcomed the amount of choice and freedom it offers players. Regardless, it can be tough to know which attachments are the best in such a saturated gunsmith. According to Warzone expert WhosImmortal, there’s one underused underbarrel that instantly improves every weapon in the game. Warzone 2 underbarrel “changes long-range meta entirely” Highlighted in a January 26 video, the YouTuber discussed the most effective underbarrel attachments to reduce recoil and make accurate fire achievable. While some options – like the Merc Foregrip or FTAC Ripper 56 – are decent enough, there’s one that stands out. “Then we’ve got the Lockgrip Precision,” he said. “You can see there are no cons for movement and what it’s doing for your recoil control is insane.” Specifically, it reduces vertical view kick by 10%, horizontal view kick by 9%, and overall weapon kick by 9%. That contrasts with the Ripper, which improves each area by roughly 4%. The only real weakness of the Lockgrip Precision-40 is that it slows ADS by more than other underbarrels but, as the YouTuber pointed out, ADS is less important in long-range gunfights. Timestamp: 1:00 WhosImmortal claimed it makes every gun in the game “so much easier to use”, equipping it on his Kastov-762, a weapon known for moderate kick. However, with the Lockgrip attached, he said it becomes “incredibly easy to use and even more lethal than before”. It might not be suitable for your close-range loadouts but, for now, you should get it onto every weapon designed for those long-distance engagements.

Warzone 2 expert claims underrated Field Upgrade is a must in ranked play – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert claims underrated Field Upgrade is a must in ranked play ActivisionSeason 3 Reloaded added deployable back stations back, and IceManIsaac has explained why they are the most important utility item in Warzone 2 Ranked Play. On May 11, Treyarch updated Skill Rating placements points to “help placement milestone SR feel more rewarding throughout the match.” Squads earn more SR than before when they place well, making it even more important to survive as long as possible. With that in mind, IceManIsaac revealed a field upgrade that will assist teams in earning better placements. IceManIsaac claims deployable buy stations are the “most valuable” field upgrade in Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded re-introduced an underrated field upgrade, deployable buy stations. The handy field upgrade first appeared in WZ1, allowing players to call in a buy station whenever needed. However, players can shoot down the deployable buy station delivery drone, resulting in an announcement being made to players within close proximity of the marker. Despite coming with a few risks, IceManIsaac made his case for why deployable buy stations are a must-use item. “Make sure you are always playing for the regain, especially late-game, which is one of the reasons why the mobile buy station is the most piece of utility in the game.” IceManIsaac is shocked that more Warzone 2 players don’t recognize the value of deployable buy stations. “If you have that, stow it, hold on to it because I see people leaving it on the floor, and it blows my mind.” Deployable buy stations offer more than just an easy way to buy back fallen teammates. If your full squad is alive and already in a good position for the end-game, the YouTuber recommends buying self-revies, durable gas masks, UAVs, and Precision Airstrikes. Also, he urged players to prioritize purchasing self-revives instead of UAVS, as most Ranked Play users have Ghost equipped, rendering the killstreak useless. The next time you find a deployable buy station as ground loot, don’t make the same mistake as other players. Use the field upgrade to regain fallen allies and stock up on killstreaks for the final circle.

Warzone 2 expert claims the best gun in Season 4 is totally “broken” – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert claims the best gun in Season 4 is totally “broken” ActivisionIf you’re looking for the “best” gun in Warzone 2 Season 4, well, one stats expert has you covered as they’ve highlighted a “broken” SMG. With the start of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 4, the devs implemented a few weapon changes that were designed to shake up the meta. That’s proven a little true as the newly-buffed shotguns have started to become a part of the battle royale again. The Cronen Squall has been heavily nerfed in a bid to bring it in line with other Assault Rifles. However, it has, as of now, remained the go-to gun for many. Though, the Lachmann Sub is hot on its heels in terms of pick rate. However, when it comes to the absolute “best” weapon in the new season, it appears that it’s an SMG that actually takes that crown – and it’s one that has only just been introduced to the game. Best ISO 45 loadout in Warzone 2 Season 4 That’s right, according to Warzone 2 guru Metaphor, the brand-new ISO 45 SMG is the “best” gun to use for the new season. The YouTuber stated that when the new gun is maxed out, it is the “most broken” gun in the new season, which puts it firmly in the territory of being OP. As a result, he’s managed to get multiple 30+ kill games with it already. It has a pretty similar setup to other SMGs too, with the VLK LZR 7mw laser, 45-round drum magazine, and Cronen Mini Dot optic all being used in the go-to class setup. Muzzle: Spiral V3.5 Flash Hider – Barrel: 9’ PTX Trainer – Laser: VLK LZR 7mw – Optic: Cronen Mini Dot – Magazine: 45-round Drum – Seeing as the SMG is so new to the battle royale, there aren’t any accurate pick rate stats to see where it has fallen into the meta in the early goings. Given its power, though, it would be a shock to not see it firmly entrenched within the top tier of pick rates before long. So, you may as well start trying to grind its levels.

Warzone 2 expert claims no recoil AR is battle royale’s “best” gun – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert claims no recoil AR is battle royale’s “best” gun ActivisionFinding the right weapon is vital to success in Warzone 2, and CoD guru Metaphor has shown off a new build that he claims is the game’s best Assault Rifle. Warzone 2 is brimming with powerful weapons to try out, but finding the best option to suit your playstyle can be tricky. SMGs are ideal for close-range but can struggle at a distance, while Sniper Rifles tend to have poor mobility. Check out the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals on Amazon That’s why most players gravitate toward Assault Rifles, thanks to their solid damage output and versatility at all ranges. Warzone 2 expert Metaphor has revealed what he thinks to the pick of the bunch in the AR category, and showed off the ideal loadout. In his November 24 video, Metaphor claimed that the Kastov 762 is the most dominant Assault Rifle that Warzone 2 has to offer right now, and explained that he has been using the gun “all day, every day.” “This thing has barely any recoil and it has the most insane burst potential to completely kill people of head glitches,” the YouTuber said. “I do think this is the best AR in the game.” Check out Metaphor’s best Kastov 762 loadout below: Metaphor’s best Kastov 762 loadout in Warzone 2 Barrel: KAS-10 584MM Barrel – Muzzle: Polarfire-S – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – Underbarrel: VX Pineapple – Magazine: 40-Round Mag – The secret to Metaphor’s Kastov 762 loadout lies in the tuning for each attachment, which allows you to eliminate most of the recoil that usually holds the weapon back. He began by tuning the VX Pineapple for maximum ADS speed and hip walking speed to increase mobility. Then, he set the Polarfire-S Muzzle to the maximum bullet velocity and +0.86 oz weight to favor recoil smoothness. Likewise, the KAS-10 584MM Barrel was tuned to the highest recoil smoothness and 0.13 on damage range. Optics are mostly down to personal preference, but Metaphor felt that moving the Cronen Mini Pro as far away from his eye line as possible, and setting the weight to -1.55 oz for better ADS speed was ideal. Lastly, he went for 40 Round Mags to ensure you can deal with multiple enemies before reloading. With this setup, the Kastov turns into an absolute laser that’s far more accurate than other weapons in its class. So, be sure to give it a spin on your next trip to Al Mazrah. Warzone 2 expert claims MCPR-300 still beats out SP-X 80 for best sniper – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert claims MCPR-300 still beats out SP-X 80 for best sniper ActivisionWarzone 2 players discovered a one-shot SP-X build that rivals the Kar98 from Warzone 1. However, one expert isn’t convinced that the sniper rifle will top the MCPR-300 in Warzone 2’s meta. Infinity Ward banned sniper rifles in Warzone 2 Ranked Play after some community members bashed the class for being too overpowered. Despite the ban, snipers still dominate every other battle royale game mode. According to WZ Ranked, the MCPR-300 is the eighth most popular weapon in WZ2. Most community members lean towards the hard-hitting rifle as the class’s best weapon, but a new challenger has emerged. Players discovered a one-shot SP-X 80 loadout dubbed the “Kar98 2.0.” A Warzone expert unearthed a drawback that they believe will hold the SP-X from reaching the same highs as the Kar98 in Warzone 1. What is the best sniper rifle in Warzone 2? Warzone Loadout offered its two cents on the growing popularity of the SP-X 80. “SP-X 80 one shot with incendiary is going to be fun for two days, and then people will realize it’s not overpowered at all against the current meta.” The Warzone expert argued that even though the SP-X 80 can kill enemies in one shot, the sniper rifle’s one-shot kill range makes it less effective than the MCPR-300. “Only a headshot up to 46 meters will down the enemy. So it’s great for the clips in Vondel but not consistent/reliable enough in Ranked.” Easy to use, large ammunition, and fast TTK weapons currently dominate the battle royale’s meta. So, in a contest up against a Lachmann-556, SO-14, or even the HCR 56, not getting a one-shot kill with the SP-X 80 could prove fatal. Warzone Loadout believes the SP-X could compete on a smaller map like Vondel. But the reliable loadout builder doesn’t expect any fundamental changes to Warzone 2’s meta. If you want the best sniper rifle loadout for WZ2 Season 4, make sure to check out our guide.

Warzone 2 expert claims Kastov 762 still has dominant TTK despite nerfs – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert claims Kastov 762 still has dominant TTK despite nerfs ActivisionWarzone 2 expert WhosImmortal claims that the Kastov 762 still dominates Season Two’s TTKs, despite the supposedly significant nerf it received from the devs with the new season’s update. Time-to-kill (TTK) stats are one of the best ways for players of any FPS to quickly and accurately determine which weapons are the strongest performing, even if it’s an imperfect metric. Regardless, it’s emerged as a reliable and trusted method to work out the most meta weapons in Warzone 2. That, alongside the buffs and nerfs of the most recent update, give us a great idea of which guns players should drop in with. However, the two are sometimes contradictory, as WhosImmortal revealed in a February 22 YouTube video. Kastov 762 still best Warzone 2 AR despite Season Two nerfs In the Season Two update, the Kastov 762 AR was supposedly nerfed heavily. It received a “small damage reduction” and “additional long-range fall-off damage”. Its TTK, though, seems largely unchanged. Immortal stacked up every AR in the game, including the supposedly buffed M13B, and the TTK of the Kastov remains some way in front at almost every single range. “Despite the nerf, none of that still competes with the Kastov 762,” he said. “Close-range, it’s still the best. Mid-range, it still ends up having the best range… Over range it’s basically equal with the Hemlock. “Curiously enough the buffed M13 didn’t actually get significantly better… and the Kastov 762, when it comes to just the [assault] rifle category, is actually the best long-range TTK option.” Timestamp: 4:00 The creator also outlined his go-to Kastov 762 which, unsurprisingly, is geared towards killing as quickly as possible at those medium and longer ranges. Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40 – Underbarrel: Edge-47 Grip – Magazine: 40-Round Mag – Rear Grip: Demo-X2 Grip – Optic: Aim OP-V4 – You’ll need an SMG like the Lachmann Sub or Fennec in your back pocket but, with this in your primary slot, you’ll be well covered for any gunfight at a bit of distance.

Warzone 2 expert claims Fennec still dominates SMGs despite Season Two nerfs – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert claims Fennec still dominates SMGs despite Season Two nerfs ActivisionWarzone 2 YouTuber and statistician TrueGameData has explained why the Fennec 45 still dominates all other SMGs in the battle royale, in spite of its Season Two nerfs. Warzone Season Two, dropping back on February 15, was expected to bring an end to the era of dominance experienced by the RPK and Fennec 45. Both guns dominated their respective classes and the battle royale’s overall pick rates across the entirety of Season One. They were both nerfed with Season Two but, where the RPK does seem much weaker in-game, the same can’t be said of the Fennec. TrueGameData claims Fennec 45 still dominates SMGs That’s certainly the opinion of expert TrueGameData, who outlined his opinion on the BR’s SMGs in a February 21 YouTube video. Delving into the relevant weapons’ damage profiles and time-to-kills (TTKs), the Fennec still runs out a comfortable winner at almost every range up to 55 meters. The specific reason is its damage to an opponent’s upper body, needing only one headshot to deal 35 damage and secure a kill in under half a second. “Another reason the Fennec is so good is that with chest shots, if you just hit one single headshot,” he said. “You get one shot-to-kill reduced, which means you get a ridiculous TTK of 440ms. This is why the Fennec is so dominant.” Timestamp of 0:51 He outlined his recommended build for aggressive players, making the most of the Fennec’s speed and fire rate. Naturally, it will kick considerably but players should only be using this pocket rocket at close range. Laser: VLK LZR 7mW – Muzzle: XTEN RR-40 – Stock: Agile Assault-7 Stock – Magazine: Fennec Mag 45 – Rear Grip: Fennec Rubber Grip – All players will need to complement their Fennec is a medium to longer range weapon. For that, check out our assault rifle and sniper rifle tier lists.

Warzone 2 expert claims DMZ is dying but can be “saved” with a big change – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert claims DMZ is dying but can be “saved” with a big change Activision BlizzardWarzone 2 YouTuber Stodeh has over 300 hours in DMZ, and he relied on a wealth of knowledge to suggest a few changes that could save the game mode from fading away. Riding a massive wave of enthusiasm, Infinity Ward backed its new extraction shooter game mode, DMZ, in Season 2 with a batch of fresh content. The developers added a new map and implemented a new progress wipe feature to keep the experience fresh for passionate community members. The mid-season update made a few bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. However, DMZ streamer, Westie, claimed Season 2 went too far “the wrong way.” He called out the developers for failing to improve AI spawn and damage consistency, removing features, and neglecting to fix a weapon blueprint glitch. Fellow DMZ community member, Stodeh cited a trend in the wrong direction and suggested a way for the developers to turn things around. Is Warzone 2 DMZ dying? Stodeh expressed his opinion on the current state of DMZ. “Alongside the downfall of Warzone 2 popularity, I feel like interest in this mode has been falling daily. There is a lack of replayability, long-term progression, and frustration from solo players because of overwhelming PVP.” The YouTuber outlined a plan to revitalize the game mode. Stodeh argued that the developers are “neglecting a huge part of the extraction shooter experience” by ignoring solo players. To combat this issue, he suggested solo players should spawn in with a self-revive, earn more rewards, and take less damage from AI enemies Once you unlock all three insured weapon slots, the YouTuber claimed, “right now, we are simply completing missions to get to the end with no real rewards.” He proposed new features allowing players to earn key inventory slots or a slot that holds items between matches. As for PVP engagements, some players argue it is too much. Inspired by DayZ, the DMZ expert offered up a karma system, awarding players for doing good things and a global bounty after a player kills 5 others. “This game is a great base for something even greater, and I really hope they continue to expand on this mode in future seasons and games.” So far, DMZ received new content in each seasonal update, and community members demand continued support.

Warzone 2 expert brings iconic Kar98k back with rifle no one uses – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert brings iconic Kar98k back with rifle no one uses ActivisionThere is a way to bring the original Kar98k from Warzone back to Warzone 2 with a gun that no one uses, even if it does lack the one-shot kill potential of other long-range choices. Over the last few years of Warzone, there have been a handful of weapons that have sent shivers down the spines of players, no matter if they were eventually nerfed or not. The original Kar98k from Warzone – when Verdansk ruled the day – is one of those. It might even challenge the DMR as the most-hated weapon ever. It was ultra fast, sent enemies back to the main menu after one shot, and you knew you’d probably lose if you didn’t have one in your back pocket. When Warzone 2 launched, those one-shot sniper capabilities went away for a while. Players didn’t have to worry about coming across Kar98k replicas. However, one Warzone expert has managed to recreate it somewhat in the new battle royale. How to make Kar98k in Warzone 2 That’s right, FaZe Testy has managed to capture the spirit of the deadly Kar98k by using a rifle that absolutely nobody else pays attention to – the SA-B 50. “It just reminds me of the Kar98 with how fast it is and how satisfying it is to use,” the YouTuber said in his June 27 video. “Obviously, it’s not one-shot, which is not the best but it is still so much fun.” Naturally, the build focuses on the weapon’s mobility and range, but it does sacrifice a fair bit of recoil control too. And yes, you do get to use a scope that looks a lot like the Kar98’s old favorite of the Sniper Scope. Laser: FSS Ole-V Laser – Optic: SP-X 80 6.6x – Stock: XRK Specter Mod – Rear Grip: Schlager Match Grip – Bolt: FSS ST87 Bolt – As noted, the SA-B 50 is one of those weapons that absolutely no one uses. WZRanked has it as the 51st most-used gun in the game with a 0.1% pick rate. Seeing as it’s so off-meta, you may not have all the attachments needed to copy Testy’s build. However, it is worth spending some time on because that nostalgia hit is something else.

Warzone 2 expert brings back Verdansk DMR with “insane” Battle Rifle loadout – Dexerto
Warzone 2 expert brings back Verdansk DMR with “insane” Battle Rifle loadout ActivisonWarzone 2 guru Metaphor has recreated the OP DMR on Al Mazrah with an “insane” Battle Rifle loadout that “rips” apart enemies with ease. In Warzone 2, the RPK and the Fennec 45 have stood out as the strongest guns since release, both maintaining incredibly high pick rates. Despite their dominance, neither of them comes close to how powerful the DMR was in the original Warzone, with the rifle effectively two-shotting any foe and offering a blisteringly fast fire rate. As you would expect, a lot of the Warzone community has attempted to recreate the DMR in WZ2, testing out a number of Battle Rifles with various builds. Well, Warzone 2 expert Metaphor seems to have nailed down a top-tier DMR-style loadout for Al Mazrah, and it makes short work of enemies at medium range. Best SO-14 Warzone 2 loadout Attachments Barrel: 22″ Boremaster Barrel – Muzzle: Lockshot KT85 – Optic: Schlager 3.4X – Comb: 5GN TAC Comb – Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity – To recreate the DMR, Metaphor chose the SO-14 Battle Rifle due to its high-fire rate, lethal TTK, and power at medium range. Kitting out the Battle Rifle to maximize its damage output, the build utilizes the 7.62 High-Velocity ammunition and the 22″ Boremaster Barrel to push the gun’s bullet velocity to the limit. These attachments also aid with the weapon’s vertical recoil, which is key when you’re looking to land every single shot on a foe. The Schlager 3.4X is the perfect scope for mid-range, allowing you to hit crucial headshots and down enemies before they can retreat to cover. According to Metaphor this setup “rips” apart enemies and while it doesn’t quite match the strength of the classic DMR, it can certainly hold its own on Al Mazrah. If you’re looking to run around with an incredible solo-carry setup, make sure to run the Weapon Specialist perk package. This will give you access to Overkill and allows you to run a meta SMG like the Fennec 45 or Lachmann Sub. With these two guns at your disposal, you’ll be a force to be reckoned with on Al Mazrah, and your enemies will be wondering how you’ve managed to unlock the old DMR from the days of Verdansk.

Warzone 2 DMZ update fixes enemy AI difficulty in Season 1 Reloaded – Dexerto
Warzone 2 DMZ update fixes enemy AI difficulty in Season 1 Reloaded Activision BlizzardRaven Software just unleashed a patch that adjusts the difficulty of Warzone 2’s enemy AI for the DMZ mode. The update for Season 1 Reloaded launched across all platforms earlier this week. Modern Warfare 2 saw the return of the classic Shipment map. Meanwhile, Warzone 2 received increased Strongholds. Other changes were made to the experience, too, though not all of them went over well with regular users. Most notably, players noticed a sharp difficulty spike when facing AI bots during DMZ games. Those who frequently jump into DMZ said the changes made the mode nearly impossible to enjoy for solo play. Fortunately, developers have addressed the issue in a new patch. Latest Warzone 2 update addresses enemy AI difficulty issues In a post that’s sure to please many a fan, Raven Software acknowledged that Season 1 Reloaded featured a change that “unintentionally resulted in base AI Combatant difficulty being increased across DMZ.” Apparently, the alteration in question was only meant to target one specific zone. The development team has since issued a patch that should fix the problem, according to the tweet linked below. Hopefully, players will begin to notice improvements on this front after installing the new Call of Duty: Warzone 2 patch. Raven’s swift response to the error should also put minds at ease. Just yesterday, someone on Reddit shared a screenshot of the Warzone Trello board, which suggested developers saw no issues plaguing the sequel’s DMZ mode. Perhaps today such a sentiment is at least a little bit closer to the truth. Other bugs continue to hinder the experience for some, though. For instance, since launch users have spotted AI bots hovering in the air, an error supposedly caused by a helicopter glitch. There’s presently no word on if and when this particular problem will receive a fix.

Warzone 2 DMZ Season 2 patch notes: Ashika Island, progress wipe & new Faction – Dexerto
Warzone 2 DMZ Season 2 patch notes: Ashika Island, progress wipe & new Faction ActivisionInfinity Ward announced everything coming to DMZ in Season 2. Let’s get you up to speed with all of the pertinent information. DMZ continues to grow in popularity. The Tarkov-inspired extraction shooter has become a fan favorite game mode, thanks to an incredibly addicting gameplay loop. Season 2 expands the experience further by adding a seasonal refresh and adjusting enemy and mission difficulty. When Infinity Ward initially announced the progress wipe, community members had mixed reactions. However, the developers later clarified that Insured Weapon Slots would not reset with Season 2, and players celebrated the decision. As DMZ’s community introduces more members to the bandwagon, the developers have rewarded fans with more fresh content. Season 1 Reloaded added Building 21 as a new Exclusion Zone, and the game mode is already receiving a new environment at the start of Season 2. Let’s jump right into what fans can expect for the upcoming season. DMZ Season 2 locations DMZ features three playable locations in Season 2, Ashika Island, Building 21, and Al Mazrah. Players can expect to find plenty of new things to do in the Pacific archipelago. Infinity Ward announced the new Exclusion Zone features a new Weapon Case and Boss as well as locked locations to gain access to and explore. As for Building 21, the map will continue to only be available in limited windows. Make sure to check our guide on when Building 21’s doors are open. The developers announced new ways to gain an access card to the Exclusion Zone on Al Mazrah or Ashika Island, including S.A.M. Site Crates, Chopper Boss Crates, and more. Al Mazrah receives updated intel and a new POI at the Sattiq Cave Complex. Season 2 progress Wipe Infinity Ward further explained how the progress wipe will work in Season 2. Contraband Weapon Inventories, Key Inventories, Faction Missions, and mission progress will all be reset at the start of Season 2. As previously mentioned, Insured Weapons Slots that were unlocked during Season 1 will not be reset. For players that didn’t unlock Insured Slots, the developers announced it will be easier to complete the requirements. The development team also clarified there won’t be a mission refresh every season. Warzone 2 DMZ Season 2: full patch notes Here are the full Season 2 patch notes. Ashika Island The new Ashika Island map coming to Warzone™ 2.0 is a brand-new Exclusion Zone for DMZ. Players will infiltrate on the shores of the island before making their way inland. Infiltration is under heavy fog that can impact combat by providing cover for both Operators and the occupying force: Shadow Company… but what could they be doing here? There is much to discover in the Ashika Island Exclusion Zone including: · A new Weapons Case. · A new Boss: The Bombmaker. · New locked and dangerous spaces to access and explore. · And more! Building 21 In Season 01 Reloaded, we introduced Building 21 with a unique Access Card and a timed infiltration window. Season 02 Missions have Operators returning to Building 21 as another Exclusion Zone option. If you need Access Cards to Building 21, be sure to seek out the following (in either Al Mazrah or Ashika Island): · S.A.M. Site Crates · Chopper Boss Crates · Buy Stations · Legendary (Orange) Crates Operators should be prepared for heavy resistance in Building 21; it’s recommended you gear up before heading to this location! Al Mazrah There are developments to explore in Al Mazrah as well, with updated intel indicating including the crash of an unknown aircraft at the Sattiq Cave Complex. The fight between White Lotus and Legion rages on… perhaps Operators can take advantage of this inter-faction animosity? We previously announced that Season 02 will include a reset and Faction Mission Refresh. Here is exactly what that entails: · Contraband Weapon Inventories will be rolled back to the starting weapons. · Key Inventories will be emptied. · Faction Missions and mission progress will be reset to make room for an updated mission set that incorporates all Exclusion Zones. Last week we confirmed: · Insured Weapons Slots unlocked through previous Faction Mission progress will not be reset. However, if you did not unlock an additional Insured Slot in Season 01, the new Season 02 requirements to do so should take much less time. For clarity on any Season 01 progress: · All Season 01 mission and boss enemy rewards – for example previously acquired Al Mazrah weapons case rewards – will not be reset, with the exception of Contraband and Keys. Why are we doing this refresh? · Mission progress in Season 01 got too difficult, too quickly. With Season 02 we’re making sure each mission’s challenge and time requirements are more balanced. · The Key Stash will now be able to hold specific mission items that you must gather from one Exclusion Zone and bring to another. This allows us to have longer from missions that utilize all of our Exclusion Zones. · With the new mission set, we can employ multi-location missions that send players to Al Mazrah, to Ashika Island, and to Building 21. The mission refresh is made up of new missions, updated missions and missions we felt worked really well from Season 01. To complete this reset, DMZ may have to go offline for a few hours ahead of the launch of Season 02. We’ll be sharing details and timing on that soon. Modern Warfare® II owners will also have access to mission orders from a brand new fourth faction, Crown. This British group is shrouded in mystery, but they have certainly piqued the interest of Black Mous…. Again, this Faction will only be available to Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® II owners. We recently detailed some of the changes coming to DMZ in Season 02, but are including them here as well with some additional context: Enemy Tuning In Season 01 the AI in DMZ were challenging, but the ramp up of difficulty was often steep with some players getting overwhelmed. With Season 02, we’ve introduced a number of balance changes to adjust the types of AI spawning, the number of AI spawning, and the accuracy of AI at range and much more. All of this should provide a challenging but manageable play-space that still requires player respect of enemy combatants in the DMZ. Dev Update: We can assure you, the AI combatants in DMZ are still not to be taken lightly. Spawn Points We are tuning some of the infil points across Al Mazrah for improved early match experience based on gameplay data. Starting at a point at which your squad feels isolated or without loot and contract opportunities is not the best experience. These tweaks should improve spawn points across the map. Dev Update: In addition to moving infiltration points, we’ve also made changes to exfil, boss and dead drop locations across Al Mazrah. Mission Difficulty Tuning Data and feedback reinforced that the Faction Mission difficulty ramp was too aggressive for many Players, and that the demanding scale ultimately made it very challenging to unlock the second Insured Weapon Slot (completing all Tier 3 Missions) in Season 01. We have adjusted the overall scaling of difficulty in Missions as the Tiers progress. Later Tier Missions will still be quite challenging even for the experienced Operator, but we believe more straightforward access to an additional Insured Slot will provide a better path forward for all Players. Crashes We know crashes are especially impactful in DMZ if you lose your items and Contraband Weapons as a result. Addressing these crashes is a priority for Season 02, and we are committed to increased stability. Future seasons will bring more changes and new content to DMZ. While DMZ is still in Beta, our hope is to continue getting feedback to shape future iterations of the game. We do not intend to apply a mission refresh every season. Instead, we’re excited to try different approaches each season to continually improve the DMZ experience. More to come on this in the future.

Warzone 2 DMZ players split after player reveals exfil kill method – Dexerto
Warzone 2 DMZ players split after player reveals exfil kill method ActivisionA Warzone 2 DMZ player unearthed an easy way to prevent teams from completing their exfil, but community members bashed the practice. Inspired by Escape from Tarkov, DMZ provides a blend of PVE vs. PVP gameplay. The goal is to loot and extract all of your findings through one of the several exfiltration zones. However, AI enemies and real players stand in the way of making that happen. Raising the stakes even further, if you die during a DMZ match, you lose all of your loot and need to start over again. The high-risk, high-reward game mode is not for the faint of heart and creates plenty of heart-pulsating moments. The most stressful of which being the exfil process. In the time between calling the helicopter to pick you up and its arrival, enemy teams have the opportunity to spoil your party and steal all of your loot, but community members have differing opinions on the mode’s PvP. DMZ player ruins enemy team’s game at the last moment A Reddit user posted a clip of themselves killing an enemy team by shooting through the front of the exfil helicopter. The enemy team assumed they were safe, but the video poster had other ideas. Hopefully, the victims weren’t extracting the M13B AR because that would be an excruciating way to miss out on unlocking the weapon. The video was met with backlash as community members complained about the player not being killed by the helicopter blades. A user responded, “They fuc**** forgot making the helicopter blades kill players.” Other people didn’t believe that killing the other team was necessary, as a second player added, “I get it if you’re showing this as an example, but you don’t even gain anything from killing them.” A third person chimed in, “It’s ridiculous how hard people try to seek out and kill other groups. I’m not a fan.” There is a clear divide on how to play DMZ the right way, and this tip only drove the wedge deeper.

Warzone 2 DMZ players slam “baffling” weapon blueprint glitch – Dexerto
Warzone 2 DMZ players slam “baffling” weapon blueprint glitch ActivisionModern Warfare 2 specifically tailored weapon blueprints for DMZ, but Warzone 2 players struggle to equip them in the game because of a glitch. Warzone 2 Season 2 is in full swing, bringing a fresh batch of DMZ content. Ashika Island turned on the fog machines and opened its doors to DMZ players. The seasonal update also wiped the slate clean, resetting mission and key unlocks. Infinity Ward heard the criticism regarding AI enemies and adjusted their difficulty, spawn rate, damage, and range, along with adjusting player spawn locations. Players celebrated a significant step forward for the tactical game mode, but a few lingering issues prevent DMZ from being a perfect experience. DMZ expert Westie broke down some of the game mode’s most glaring issues and pleaded for the developers to make a change. Westie exposes troubling DMZ weapon blueprint glitch Warzone 2 YouTuber Westie ranted about DMZ’s problems but explained why they don’t prevent him from having a good time. “So despite DMZ season 2 not fixing AI the way it would, and weapon blueprints still not working in the mode, vanishing gas masks still vanishing from your loadout, losing everything when you load into a match or spawning in with fist, there are still some awesome moments you can have.” The YouTuber’s frustrations poured over to Twitter, as he said, “The fact that most weapon blueprints just straight up don’t work in DMZ still baffles me.” In December 2022, a DMZ player shared a clip of the glitch. As you can see, they equipped a weapon blueprint, but it doesn’t work in DMZ. Community members are fed up with the glitch and demand the developers address the issue. One player responded, “it is the things like this which annoy me. Yes, they are minor problems, but they should also be really easy fixes that they tend to wait till something major to fix them.” We will provide an update if the developers address the weapon blueprint problem.

Warzone 2 DMZ players quitting as major problem still not fixed: “Not fun anymore” – Dexerto
Warzone 2 DMZ players quitting as major problem still not fixed: “Not fun anymore” ActivisionA number of Warzone 2 DMZ players are leaving the game behind, claiming that the AI in the extraction shooter have become increasingly frustrating to play against, pushing them away from playing entirely. DMZ arrived alongside Warzone 2 as an extraction shooter akin to Escape from Tarkov, and was highly anticipated by players looking for a brand-new experience in the Call of Duty world. While it didn’t blow up and steal all the players from Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer, it’s still been very successful, with a huge, dedicated playerbase that enjoys the change of pace from regular Call of Duty. That said, AI has been a consistent issue for players in the game since it launched. While AI is to be expected in the game, a fundamental facet of the extraction shooter genre, players feel they’ve become increasingly difficult to cope with. “DMZ is not fun anymore” This was explained by Punelle, with whom many others agreed, in a Reddit post simply titled “DMZ is not fun anymore.” They said: “I used to play DMZ with my friends on a daily basis since release and we looked forward to the new season where they would change the A.I. – but the A.I. got even worse in Season 2… It has came to a point where we don’t play anymore. I can’t see anything that indicates that the company believes it’s even a problem. I wonder if they even care about DMZ at all.” Other commenters came out in full agreement with the post. “DMZ was a chill space for when BR got a little too much but my god the endless wave after wave of AI is a bit much,” one player said. “Once you’re out of plates it’s pretty much game over.” Another claimed that it is ”pretty much impossible to complete a contract” when playing solo due to the lack of ammo and armor plates. While the state of AI has long been a complaint of DMZ players, many clearly believe it’s gotten worse over time, especially if they expected Season 2 to bring in changes to make them less of a problem.

Warzone 2 DMZ players discover upcoming Metal Gear Solid style feature – Dexerto
Warzone 2 DMZ players discover upcoming Metal Gear Solid style feature Activision, Konami/Kojima ProductionsModern Warfare 2’s DMZ mode is harboring a secret Metal Gear Solid-style feature, following an exciting discovery by eagle-eyed players exploring the Tarkov-inspired mode. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has a wealth of content to unearth, including the return of a revamped Warzone and the Escape From Tarkov-inspired DMZ mode. Check out the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals on Amazon DMZ pits players into a tougher version of Al-Mazrah, teaming with formidable NPC enemies and challenging quests to complete. As players dig into DMZ mode, some have discovered an upcoming piece of gear akin to a popular item from Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. CoD players unearth “Extraction Balloon” gear coming to DMZ mode Players roaming around in Modern Warfare 2’s DMZ mode will need to utilize every piece of gear to exfiltrate successfully, and it seems that more items are set to appear in the game-mode. Redditor Top_Scientist4578 shed light on the ‘Extraction Balloon’ gear item, that will be available to purchase from Buy Stations around Al-Mazrah. Costing the player $2000 in-game currency, the exciting addition is notably similar to that of the Fulton Balloon from the Metal Gear Solid franchise. In the latter, the Fulton Balloon was used to extract equipment or NPCs back to the game’s Mother Base. Is it unclear whether the DMZ variant will operate in the same manner, but it is captivating to imagine the possibilities it presents within Al-Mazrah. Fellow DMZ player PlotzkeA commented: “I would guess that is to extract one piece of gear. At $2000 that would be way too cheap.” Some players have theorized that the item will be included in a new version of Plunder, which is currently absent from Modern Warfare. “Either those are all place holder provers or it’s some sort of crop from wz1 plunder,” said Ghillie_In_The_Mist. Until more information becomes available, be sure to keep updated with the latest DMZ and Warzone developments. If you click on a product link on this page we may earn a small affiliate commission.

Warzone 2 DMZ player discovers ultimate “pay-to-win” ambush strategy – Dexerto
Warzone 2 DMZ player discovers ultimate “pay-to-win” ambush strategy ActivisionOne clever Warzone 2 DMZ player has stumbled onto a “pay-to-win” strategy that helped him set up an incredible Exfiltration Zone ambush. DMZ can be a grueling game mode for solo players or those who have lost their squadmates. When things get tough, being passive and allowing other squads to make mistakes is often the only thing left to do. As it turns out, some Operator skins make that a much easier thing to pull off than others. One TikToker has found a “pay to win” strategy that helped him execute an unbelievable ambush on an unsuspecting team. Warzone 2 DMZ “pay to win” Operator skin sets up wild ambush ON1C was laying by the Exfil location when the stars aligned. A full team had rushed right towards him in a blind hurry to get on the plane and get out of Dodge. In their bullrush, they failed to notice him lurking nearby. Once they boarded, he sprung his trap, stealing their vehicle and using the turret on top to dispose of them all in record time. While this play had a chance of working without it, ON1C believes his ghillie suit made all the difference in the squad overlooking him. There are a number of these suits in the game and they all require a purchase of some kind. Whether that’s in a bundle or via outside promotions (like the now-closed Jack Link’s code redemption) they’re not available to everyone equally. The only way to get them now is to either hunt down one of four Jack Link’s codes or buy one of the various bundles (Overgrown, Overgrown 2, VII: Sloth, or Raid) that contain a specific suit. While ON1C originally called the outfit overpowered, there was a bit of debate about the topic. “It’s not overpowered if it’s doing exactly what it’s meant to do,” one fan commented. It may not be too strong, but hiding a game-changing suit behind a paywall could be quite the risk for the MW2 developers.

Warzone 2 players want Escape from Tarkov-like vendors in DMZ – Dexerto
Warzone 2 players want Escape from Tarkov-like vendors in DMZ Activision BlizzardSome Call of Duty: Warzone 2 players think Escape from Tarkov features would work wonders for the DMZ experience. DMZ mode entered the mix with the launch of Warzone 2, emphasizing survival and extraction as players traverse the map to complete objectives. Though trios rest at the core of the experience, users can also go it alone or in duos. And, so far, the mode has become a fan-favorite, despite its status as a beta. The beta phase has many players confident in the development team’s ability to improve the DMZ’s problem areas. Warzone 2 users want Escape from Tarkov features in DMZ Of late, Warzone fans have especially looked to Escape from Tarkov for the types of changes they’d like to see reflected in DMZ. Reddit user ShrimpConsumer, for example, thinks a system akin to Tarkov’s flea markets or vendors could elevate Warzone 2’s in-game economy. The idea is that players could use the money they extract to purchase goods from vendors. “I feel like you should be able to mod contraband guns, but only with attachments and accessories you buy from the market,” the Redditor said. A Tarkov-esque hideout or base for storing extra items and money would be beneficial, too, ShrimpConsumer added. Based on responses to the post, a few Warzone 2 players like the Redditor’s pitch. One person wrote, “honestly, I’d prefer them to just copy as much as they can from EFT.” Another user said they’ve recently returned to Escape from Tarkov and think the “incentive to keep playing is so much better than DMZ” in Warzone 2. But others want to keep the two shooters separate. “This game is not Tarkov. It’s its own entity,” one noted. Since DMZ presently remains in beta, there’s no telling how it will turn out once the full version goes live.

DMZ players furious as bots problem gets worse in Warzone 2 update – Dexerto
DMZ players furious as bots problem gets worse in Warzone 2 update Activision BlizzardCall of Duty: Warzone 2 players think the bots problem in DMZ has gotten worse since the release of Season 1 Reloaded. Activision deployed the MW2 and Warzone 2’s Reloaded update this week, adding weapon buffs, nerfs, and more to the experience. Modern Warfare 2 also received a new map, the classic Shipment locale. Meanwhile, Warzone 2 users were treated to AI adjustments and increased Strongholds. Not everyone is happy with the latest round of changes, however. Even Dr Disrespect says he’s “over” the game, uninstalling it from his PC during a recent live stream. The popular content creator isn’t the only one feeling contempt toward Warzone 2. Warzone 2 users think the bots problem is only getting worse A Reddit post from user DevManTim has reignited discussion about bots in Warzone 2’s DMZ mode. The Redditor believes the Season 1 Reloaded update managed to compound the issue of bot difficulty. “I think the Reload patch made the bots in DMZ worse,” DevManTim wrote, adding that they’re more “overwhelming” now and swarm like zombies. Several other players in the thread tend to agree with the post. In the replies, many users said it feels as though the game is especially punishing solo players. “Solo is impossible unless you just want to sneak around and do nothing,” one Call of Duty fan wrote. Another agreed, pointing out that DMZ has become a bit too difficult for even six-player squads. “I can’t imagine trying to play this game solo anymore, especially when the risk-reward just isn’t worth it after a couple exfils.” Other Warzone 2 DMZ users say they’ve encountered bots who can kill them through walls. And instead of using their typical “casual sprint,” many bots run full-on like human players. For now, it seems a good number of users are weighing the benefit of continuing to invest in Warzone’s exciting, new mode.

Warzone 2 devs shut down most wanted contracts due to infinite XP glitch – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs shut down most wanted contracts due to infinite XP glitch Activision BlizzardWarzone 2 Most Wanted contracts provide an excellent way to revive your entire squad, but Activision disabled the useful mission because of an XP glitch. Taking down opposing squads is not the only objective in Warzone 2. The battle royale features contracts, awarding players earn XP and cash for completing in-game missions. WZ2 introduced the Champions Quest contract, granting an elusive Tactical Nuke for completing a difficult task. Warzone 2’s innovations received heaps of praise from community members but glitched marred the battle royale’s launch. A Social Menu bug prevented players from teaming up with their friends, but Activision eventually resolved the issue. The developers created a Trello Board, to inform players about what issues they are working on, and the latest glitch forced the removal of the Most Wanted contract. Warzone 2 devs temporarily remove Most Wanted Contract Most Wanted is a high-risk, high-reward mission to undertake. Once you pick the contract, the timer starts, and you get limited time to survive. Your location is marked on the map, and If you manage to survive successfully, then each and every eliminated player from your team will get revived at the same time, even after the Gulag gets closed. You also get some cash and XP as a reward. Raven Software shared a link to the Trello Board so players can see for themselves what the developers are working on. A glitch involved completing the Most Wanted contract and opening a loot box at the same time. If you got to the end of the contract’s timer and open a loot box once the contract completion prompt came on your screen, you would receive a ton of extra XP. Players earned around 13,000 XP per completion. Activision disabled Most Wanted because of the exploit. In his initial review of Warzone 2, CoD YouTuber JGOD listed limited cash as an issue with the game, making it nearly impossible to buy back teammates. Most Wanted provided a quick way to bring back all of your teammates at once, but players will have to wait to complete the Contract again.

Warzone 2 devs rush hotfix for vanishing armor plates in Season 2’s Resurgence mode – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs rush hotfix for vanishing armor plates in Season 2’s Resurgence mode ActivisionWarzone 2 developer Raven Software have rushed out an emergency update just hours after Season 2 arrived as players reported a surprising lack of armor plates in the new Resurgence playlist. After months of waiting, Resurgence players finally had their prayers answered on February 15. With the launch of Warzone 2’s second Season came the return of the fast-paced game type with an all-new bite-sized BR map in Ashika Island. As just the second map in the Warzone sequel and the first of a smaller variety, it offers a tight-knit battleground for smaller lobbies to enjoy in the more action-packed playlist. However, not all went according to plan when the Season 2 update rolled around. Upon dropping into the new Resurgence map, players quickly noticed something was awry. Armor plates weren’t quite as plentiful as they were in the regular Warzone 2 modes, leaving many squads with no proper means of defending themselves. Taking gunfights without armor is an almost-guaranteed way to see yourself back in the menu waiting for a respawn. Just as it is in the regular BR game-types, it’s crucial to success in the Resurgence mode. Thus, when they were in severely short supply at the launch of Season 2, many soon took note. Fortunately, Raven Software was on the ball right away. Just hours after the mega-sized update arrived in Warzone 2, the devs swiftly issued another small update to address the issue. Now, eliminated players are “guaranteed [to] drop at least one Armor Plate at minimum,” they assured. “They will also continue to drop any additional Armor Plates they have stored in their backpack.” Naturally, such a quick resolution went down well with the community as streamers, pros, and casual fans alike all chimed in with praise for the fast-working devs. Moving forward on Ashika Island, you should have no troubles finding a steady stream of armor to keep you and your teammates well-protected in the coming battles.

Warzone 2 devs reveal one shot sniping and buy station changes in Season 3 – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs reveal one shot sniping and buy station changes in Season 3 ActivisionThe Warzone 2 devs confirmed one-shot kill sniper rifles are returning in Season 3, but not in the same state as WZ1. Infinity Ward hinted at a “crucial” change to sniper rifles in the early Season 3 patch notes. Community members speculated this signaled a return of one-shot kill sniping, which split players. One side of the aisle argued WZ2 would devolve back into a sniper-dominated meta like WZ1, while others claimed the class isn’t strong enough in its current state. After a few days of heated debate, Activision stepped forward and confirmed that one-shot snipe rifles will be making a return in Season 3. One-shot sniping is back in Warzone 2 This isn’t the first time one-shot sniping has been added to WZ2. Incendiary ammunition enabled snipers to one-shot kill enemies again during Season 2. After one week, the developers stepped in and reverted the change. In Season 2 Reloaded, one-shot sniping made another appearance. As part of the St. Patricks Day event, a special Victus XMR sniper didn’t just instant kill to the head, but after any successful shot. On April 10, the Warzone 2 devs announced: “Expect the return of one-shot sniper rifles — under certain attachment and platform conditions — as part of this seasonal update.” Some community members raised concern about players holding buy stations with one-shot sniper rifles. Infinity Ward reassured fearful players by announcing Season 3 changes buy station locations to safer locations, such as indoors or behind cover. Incendiary rounds reduce damage range, bullet velocity, and bullet penetration. That attachment’s limitations prevented sniping from becoming too overpowered during Season 2. The developers did not reveal what attachment and platform conditions need to be met in order to kill enemies one-shot for Season 3. Players will be filled in once the official patch notes go live on April 12.

Warzone 2 devs reveal more DMZ fixes following February 17 update – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs reveal more DMZ fixes following February 17 update ActivisionWarzone 2 developers Infinity Ward have unveiled more DMZ bug fixes as issues persisted despite recent hotfixes. The anticipated release of Season 2 has been a breath of fresh air for many players — acting as the first major update of the new year. The new season is certainly something to be excited about too. Introducing the resurgence map, Ashika Island, as well as multiple new weapons, players have a ton to keep them busy. It’s fair to say the CoD devs have been hard at work these past few weeks, releasing numerous patches since the new season, aimed at fixing issues across all modes. Nevertheless, the devs have released yet another hotfix for the fourth consecutive day, this time aimed at fixing DMZ’s issues. Warzone devs reveal more DMZ bug fixes In a February 18 tweet, the Infinity Ward devs revealed they’ve released another update, this time addressing bugs in DMZ. According to the devs, the latest patch is aimed to fix an issue that caused some players to lose their inventory when using the final exfil in DMZ. Furthermore, Infinity Ward has addressed the mode’s difficulty issues, which caused reinforcements to keep appearing, as well as Tier 3 enemies spawning in unintended areas. Since the release of the new season, the devs have battled with a ton of bugs, as players have encountered problems such as not being able to move after reviving a teammate, armor plate equipping issues, as well as irritating game crashes. Thankfully, there looks to be an end in sight to all the issues, as the devs continue to address and hotfix more bugs.

Warzone 2 devs reveal long-awaited Plunder release date – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs reveal long-awaited Plunder release date ActivisionWarzone 1’s Plunder mode cultivated a passionate fan base, and WZ2 community members can finally get their hands on the game mode again soon. Plunder flips the traditional battle royal formula on its head. Instead of chasing kills, players gather as much in-game cash as possible. The first team to collect 1$ million wins and squads earn cash by completing contracts, killing enemies, and looting crates. Activision decided to freshen up the fan-favorite game mode by introducing several new features. Players can purchase a Credit Card that returns 10% cashback on all purchases, or Life Insurance, which saves 50% of their cash after getting eliminated. Blood Money, Cannon Fodder, Contactor, and Choke Hold are four new events for Plunder. Blood Money rewards double cash for eliminating and looting operators while active. With so much to look forward to, we finally have an official release date for the mode. When is Plunder coming to Warzone 2? Activision announced that Plunder makes its triumphant return to Warzone on April 26. The developers gave fans a brief explanation of what they could expect from the game mode. “Get ready to take the money and run complete contracts, grab bags of money, take advantage of brand new public events, and hunt down cash leaders in a race to earn the largest stash.” Activision also released a trailer showcasing Plunder gameplay and explicitly mentions Warzone Ranked. CharlieINTEL dispelled any hopes of the Ranked mode coming out on April 26 as well. “While the new Plunder trailer mentions Warzone Ranked, Warzone Ranked is not launching tomorrow. That is part of the Season 03 Reloaded update, which currently does not have an announced date. Only Plunder is live April 26th.” We will provide an update when the developers announce an official release date for the mid-season update, but at least fans can enjoy Plunder in the meantime.

Warzone 2 devs respond to stealth heartbeat sensor buff – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs respond to stealth heartbeat sensor buff Infinity WardWarzone 2 guru JGOD picked up on an unannounced heartbeat sensor buff, and Raven Software explained why the change happened. You would be hard-pressed not to find someone using a heartbeat sensor in Warzone 1. The tactical equipment item allows players to track enemies on a small screen when they are close by. There aren’t too many counters to the powerful tool, but the ghost perk prevents players’ locations from being revealed. Infinity Ward took note of an extremely high pick rate and responded accordingly for Warzone 2. The battle royale sequel added a battery life of approximately 100 seconds, so users couldn’t constantly use it without repercussions. Heartbeat sensors also had their range decreased. However, we now know that was not an intended nerf. Heartbeat censors juiced up in Warzone Season 2 On March 31, JGOD shared: “Stealth Changes on Heart Beat Sensor for WZ2, at least a few weeks it has been like this.” The heartbeat sensor is now able to detect enemies 50 meters, improved from 15 at launch. ModernWarzone credited JGOD for the discovery and asked the developers if they buffed the equipment item back to how it performed in WZ1. Raven Software responded: “this was a change that resulted from a bug fix that went out on March 2.” The bug kept the heartbeat sensor from properly tracking enemies, and players almost never showed on the radar. Heartbeat sensors have not played a crucial role in Warzone 2’s meta up to this point, but the latest update could finally make them relevant again.

Warzone 2 devs respond to Season 5 night vision bug – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs respond to Season 5 night vision bug ActivisionWarzone 2 Season 5 introduced a bug that randomly disorients players with night vision, but the devs are aware of the issue. Modern Warfare 2019 first introduced the concept of nighttime multiplayer maps, with a dedicated playlist featuring night versions of each environment. Players wore night vision goggles permanently, and all weapons could only fire with a laser sight. Modern Warfare 2 brought an NVG (night vision goggles) mode in Season 3. The update also added Black Gold as a new map, forcing players to equip night vision goggles and fight in pitch black. Night vision goggles also made an appearance in DMZ as part of the update. Night vision goggles currently aren’t a feature in Warzone 2, but a Season 5 bug unintentionally added NVG to the game mode. Warzone 2 community members slam night vision goggle glitch Warzone 2 streamer Speros encountered a glitch while playing a solo match on Al Mazrah that forced his operator to equip and unequip night vision goggles every time he went into his inventory. Speros was understandably frustrated by the glitch and screamed: “I am going to lose my mind. I can’t even go into my backpack without putting on night vision goggles.” Eventually, the glitch led to Speros dying earlier than he would have liked and the experience befuddled him. Fortunately, the Warzone 2 devs swiftly responded: “We’re investigating an issue causing players to unintentionally acquire Night Vision Goggles in BR.” Players can keep track of the bug-fix progress on Warzone 2’s official Trello Board. Raven Software did not provide a timeline for when community members can expect a resolution. We will provide an update when a patch is released. In the meantime, there doesn’t appear to be much players can do when confronted with the annoying bug. For more on Warzone 2, check out the full Season 5 patch notes.

Warzone 2 devs respond to major revive bug giving free kills in Season Two – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs respond to major revive bug giving free kills in Season Two ActivisionThe developers at Raven Software have responded to a major revive bug in Warzone 2’s second season which has been leading to a lot of unnecessary deaths. Season Two of Warzone 2 dropped back on February 15, bringing a huge amount of new content to both the battle royale sequel and Modern Warfare 2. Ashika Island was undoubtedly the main draw, but we also saw popular changes implemented – like a reversion to 1v1 Gulags and ‘vomit’ looting. However, as we’ve come to expect from major updates in major titles, some bugs and glitches have emerged in the subsequent days. Warzone 2 devs respond to major revive bug ruining matches One of the more egregious relates to reviving teammates – an integral part of Warzone 2 modes like Duos, Trios and Quads. Specifically, players found themselves stuck in position when trying to revive their teammates, leading to easy eliminations for enemies following up their knocks. On February 15, Raven confirmed they were investigating. Now, they have “reopened this issue and are investigating further causes.” The Trello card created confirms the issue and that they were unable to solve the problem despite initially marking the bug as complete. It also confirms that the bug is affecting players on all platforms, meaning no WZ2 fans are invulnerable to the issue. Rest assured though, that the issue is being worked on by Raven and, as such, we can expect a hotfix in the coming days. We’ve seen frequent patches dropped to fix the most glaring bugs, a title which this surely qualifies as.

Warzone 2 devs respond to major bug killing players before they’ve been downed – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs respond to major bug killing players before they’ve been downed ActivisionWarzone 2 players have been reporting a serious issue whereby they are getting eliminated instantly rather than just being downed, and the devs have finally responded. In the Call of Duty battle royale, if you’re playing with a team or have a Self-Revive, you should always find yourself in a downed state after losing a gunfight, able to be picked up by your teammates or to pop a self-revive to stay on in the game. However, that doesn’t exactly always work as intended, and a number of players have reported that they’re being killed immediately when they’re supposed to have only been downed. While this has been a huge source of frustration, devs Raven Software have responded, addressing the problem and promising that they’re working on it. “We’re investigating an issue causing Players to be eliminated when they should have been Downed,” they said in a tweet, as well as mentioning that they’re looking at issues with Proximity Chat. On the Trello card for the issue, it’s noted as a global problem on all platforms, but they’ll no doubt be hoping to fix it before it starts to spread and becomes a major complaint. Warzone has always had various bugs and glitches that can impact the player’s experience, and as far as these issues go, this one isn’t actually too bad. The stim glitch and Gas Mask glitch have frequently returned, much to players’ frustrations, as well as the demon gun glitch which became somewhat of a hilarious phenomenon in hindsight. Many players are impressed with the direction of Warzone since the launch of Season 4, and with changes like these improving the quality of life, it could get better yet.

Warzone 2 devs respond to backlash over Resurgence squad size promise – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs respond to backlash over Resurgence squad size promise ActivisionThe Call of Duty Warzone 2 devs have issued a correction over the playlist changes coming to Ashika Island after players claimed they were “lying” about Resurgence squad sizes. While plenty of Warzone 2 fans enjoyed the brand-new Al Mazrah map, there were plenty who missed the smaller, more action-filled Resurgence maps from the original battle royale. With the start of Season 2, those players had their wishes fulfilled when the devs announced Ashika Island – a smaller map that is focused on the Resurgence playlists that players came to know and love on Rebirth and Fortune’s Keep. Even though the map has been a hit, there have been a few issues. Most notably, when the map was launched, the devs announced that every squad size playlist would be available, meaning you could play anything from solos to quads. Warzone 2 devs respond to Resurgence squad size playlist requests However, that hasn’t been the case, with only quads being available to this point. As a result, players put the devs under fire and claimed that they’d ‘lied’ about them being live from the get-go. They’ve now responded to those claims, noting that the playlists will be available before long. “Correction: Each of the four Squad sizes for Resurgence will be in the playlist rotation at some point throughout Season 02. Solos arrives this weekend,” they tweeted on February 21. Some players were still confused and asked for further clarity as to whether solos would be replacing quads. Though, Raven cleared that up, noting they’ll be “alongside” each other. A number of players suggested that even the new change was a “big L” and that every playlist should available, rather than a “rotation” of them. It remains to be seen if the devs will ultimately make the change that players want, given the increased backlash.

Warzone 2 devs respond as players can’t unlock Season 5 guns in DMZ – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs respond as players can’t unlock Season 5 guns in DMZ ActivisionThe Warzone 2 devs have responded to an issue where players are unable to unlock new weapons from Season 5 through DMZ like they could in previous seasons. When Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (2022) was first announced, there was much hype around DMZ – the Escape From Tarkov-esque mode that is played on the Warzone 3 maps. In DMZ, you can essentially stake different pieces of equipment and items in the hopes of finding better stuff out there that you can take into future missions. That, until Season 5, had included the new weapons that are introduced at the start and mid-points of a new season. Players had been able to drop into DMZ, find the new weapons from other players or NPCs and then exfil to have them unlocked. They didn’t need to use the battle pass. In fact, there have even been services set up where you can pay for someone to hold your hand in unlocking a gun. CoD devs respond to Warzone 2 & MW2 guns not unlocking in DMZ Well, with the start of Season 5, many players have been dropping into DMZ to try and unlock the new FR Avancer assault rifle, as well as the .300 Carrack sniper. Though, for some reason, they’ve found themselves unable to do so. Exfiling with these weapons – regardless of whether you try and swap with a pal before doing so – doesn’t unlock them for the time being. That has prompted a response from the devs. “We are investigating reports of some DMZ Players being unable to unlock certain weapons via successful exfil as intended,” they said, noting it’s been added to their Trello board of problems. Many players took to social media to complain about the issue, noting they were unable to unlock the new guns – especially the FR Advancer assault rifle. “Stupid stupid change honestly,” said one, suggesting it was done on purpose. Some players, though, slightly reveled in their misery. “Does this mean guys will have to do challenges and such? Wow,” responded another It remains to be seen if this was, indeed, an intended change or just a bug. Though, given it wasn’t mentioned in the patch notes from the start, it’s likely just an error that will be ironed out before long.

Warzone 2 devs respond as FPS issues mount following Season 4 Reloaded update – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs respond as FPS issues mount following Season 4 Reloaded update ActivisionCall of Duty developers have addressed player backlash as the Season 4 Reloaded update seemingly made performance issues worse, specifically on PC, for those playing across both Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2. The size of new CoD updates is often quite a staggering sight. Typically taking up the most space on your hard drive, with each new season, the file size only tends to expand as devs introduce new maps, modes, and of course, a wide range of cosmetics too. With an abundance of moving pieces, not everything goes according to plan in these regular transitions. Every now and then, some game-breaking bugs or minor, more amusing quirks may slip through the cracks. However, with the most recent instance, more dire issues have bubbled up to the surface. Shortly after the highly-anticipated Season 4 Reloaded patch went out on July 12, players were quick to report widespread performance issues. Seemingly impacting the PC community for the most part, many have noted drastic nosedives in performance following the latest update. CoD players took to social media in the hours following the new content drop to report their struggles. “Lower FPS after today’s update?” one player asked on the Modern Warfare 2 subreddit. “God awful FPS?” another chimed in on the Warzone subreddit as well. At the time of writing, no specific piece of kit appears to be causing hassles. Rather, the performance issues are seemingly widespread for those engaging on PC, regardless of their particular build. “For me, it’s not playable anymore after the update,” one player added to the conversation, with many others echoing the sentiment in response: “-50% FPS after the patch.” “Basically made it unplayable for me,” another added. “Was [at] 120FPS [now] down to 60-80. WTF.” Acknowledging the backlash right away, devs quickly chimed in on Twitter to address these concerns. Although no specific details were outlined, the official CoD Updates Twitter account confirmed the team is now “investigating” the widespread performance issues on PC. With the issue currently listed on the public Modern Warfare 2 Trello board as well, rest assured devs are on the case and looking to remedy the situation as soon as possible. We’ll be sure to keep you posted here as any further details emerge.

Warzone 2 devs remove Massive Resurgence amid circle issues – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs remove Massive Resurgence amid circle issues ActivisionInfinity Ward temporarily removed Massive Resurgence in Warzone 2 while the developers fix an issue with the gas circles. WZ2 Season 3 introduced Massive Resurgence. Warzone has had plenty of dedicated Resurgence maps in the past, but this is the first time players can play the fan-favorite game mode in a large-scale environment. As long as one teammate is alive, squad members can redeploy until the third circle closes. Infinity Ward released the mode with trios and quads available. Community members also want solos and duos, but there has been no official confirmation on whether Massive Resurgence will get either playlist. No squad size is available at the time of writing, as the developers removed the game mode to iron out a nagging hiccup. Warzone 2 devs temporarily remove Massive Resurgence On April 18, Infinity Ward announced: “We have disabled the Massive Resurgence mode in Warzone 2 while we investigate an issue with irregular circle behavior.” WZ2 content creator Bonq posted a clip on Twitter of players loading into a Massive Resurgence map on Al Mazrah. The circle was inside the gas, so he jumped into the circle and used a stim to revive himself after he went down. The match ended in just 40 seconds as no other player had a way to revive themselves. Earlier that day, Raven Software announced the developers had deployed a fix for the issue. However, players still experienced game-breaking bugs, as the video seen above, forcing Infinity Ward to disable the game mode. The developers added Resurgence trios and quads as temporary replacements. We will provide an update when the problem is resolved, and the game mode is live once again.

Warzone 2 devs nerf pay to win DMZ bundle with slight change after backlash – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs nerf pay to win DMZ bundle with slight change after backlash ActivisionWarzone 2 developers have already nerfed the ‘Thorns Out’ Roze operator skin by introducing a one-minute cooldown timer where UAVs can’t be used at the start of DMZ games. With the launch of Season 3 on April 12, several pay-to-win bundles were introduced. These bundles provide various benefits when used in DMZ including a free Medium Backpack and extra operator slots. The community had become particularly worried about the Roze and Thorn bundle, which includes the ‘Thorns Out’ Roze operator skin. When equipped this operator skin spawns players with a free UAV that can be used at the start of DMZ games. The DMZ community was unhappy with this, pushing the devs to take action. Pay to win DMZ bundle receives marginal nerf after backlash In the April 19 patch for Warzone 2 & MW2, Infinity Ward has added a one-minute cooldown at the start of DMZ games during which players cannot use UAVs. Whilst well-intentioned many members of the Warzone 2 community consider this nerf to be negligible or even potentially harmful. There are concerns that players wouldn’t have used the UAV immediately anyway, instead waiting to reach a place of interest where enemy teams are more likely to be. Responding on Reddit, one user said: “That’s almost worse. If someone uses it immediately, they might find the one team that spawns close enough, but if they wait a minute they’ll likely be at a POI where others are trying to get the UAV normally.” Another upset player made it clear that they don’t believe mechanics like this belong in Call of Duty: “I hope they start getting their asses kicked by competitors. P2W is f**king garbage, keep that in mobile games.” On Twitter, prevalent Call of Duty and DMZ content creator Westie was not impressed, adding: “DMZ is still really good but this P2W stuff has cast a shadow over the mode.”

Warzone 2 devs make every map playable, but it comes with a catch – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs make every map playable, but it comes with a catch ActivisionRaven Software added all three Warzone 2 maps in the latest weekly playlist update, but it comes with a catch that infuriated community members. Warzone 2 utilizes a weekly playlist rotation system. Every week, Raven Software unveils a new set of game modes, maps, and squad sizes available in the battle royale sequel. However, players slammed the devs for constantly neglecting solos, duos, trios, and quads. For example, Warzone 2 went multiple weeks without a solo squad size option on Al Mazrah. And players previously called out the devs for “lying” as Ashika Island only launched with Quads when the map previously advertised all squad sizes. This time around, users have taken umbrage with the removal of several different squad sizes across the battle royale’s three maps. Warzone 2 players slam devs for “driving business away” On July 5, Raven Software unveiled the weekly Warzone playlist. For a standard battle royale match on Al Mazrah, players only have the option to queue in quads. Only solos and trios are available on Vondel. And players can only play in quads on Ashika Island. Restricting squad sizes hurts those who play alone or with a select number of friends. It also adds insult to injury if their preferred squad size is locked behind a map they don’t enjoy playing. Over 700 people commented on the post, with some voicing frustrations over the decision. After a third straight week of no solos in the standard Warzone 2 battle royale, one player responded: “Can we please leave in BR solos? Why can I not play the game solo?” Other users shared a similar sentiment. A second disgruntled community member asked: “At what point do you guys get tired of seeing solo players fill up your playlist post comments?” Another frustrated solo player argued: “I’m beginning to think none of this game was ever designed for the solo player.” Warzone 2 shows no signs of changing its weekly playlist rotation system. For now, the best players can do is continue to use their voices on social media if they want change.

Warzone 2 devs investigating game-breaking bug that ruins matches before they start – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs investigating game-breaking bug that ruins matches before they start ActivisionWarzone 2 has been plagued with a game-breaking bug that ruins matches before they even get off the ground, but Raven Software is looking into it now. The Warzone 2 community has found a bug that knocks players in the pre-game lobby and keeps them down as the game starts. Various players have reported instances of this, with an influx of complaints happening after the Season 2 Reloaded update arrived on March 15. It’s a frustrating experience, but luckily, players won’t have to worry about it much longer. Warzone 2 devs acknowledge game-breaking bug Raven announced that they were looking into a fix for this problem back on March 17 via both Twitter and their Trello board that tracks “Known Issues” inside of Warzone 2. “Thank you! We have a solid idea of what’s happening and are actively investigating a fix,” the developers said in response to a player describing the problem. This is the latest bug fix that the Warzone 2 team has acknowledged that they’re diving into following the aforementioned update. There’s still no timetable set for this fix, so it’s best to simply back out of the lobby and try again for anyone that doesn’t want to waste their trip to the Gulag to touch down in Al Mazrah for the first time. Raven’s Trello also indicates that they’re still working on fixes for various issues causing the game to crash on PC, as well as several minor issues that have been weighing the battle royale down. We’ll have the latest updates about Warzone 2 fixes here, but it’s also worth keeping an eye on social media and the Known Issues board to stay informed.

Warzone 2 devs add “secret hard counter” to Ghost perk – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs add “secret hard counter” to Ghost perk ActivisionSeason 4 Reloaded adds the Birdseye perk back to Warzone 2 and reworked it to serve as a perfect countermeasure against Ghost users. Raven Software removed the Birdseye perk in January because of a game-breaking bug. Players unintentionally saw enemy positions and the direction they were facing on the minimap during UAV sweeps and radar pings. This led to some abusing the exploit to get live updates on an enemy’s location. The devs pledged to balance the perk and bring it back at a later date. Birdseye returned in Season 3, but players can only choose one Ultimate perk, and High Alert and Ghost appeared more appealing on paper to most users. However, it may be worth reconsidering the best Ultimate Perk in Warzone 2 after the Season 4 Reloaded update. Warzone 2 devs provide counter to Ghost perk The Ghost perk makes players undetectable by UAVs, portable radars, and heartbeat sensors. Up until now, there hasn’t really been a way to counter the perk. Raven Software noted that and redesigned the Birdseye perk in direct opposition to Ghost. After the rework, even if a player uses Ghost, their location will be revealed to an enemy that uses a UAV and has Birdseye equipped. Raven Software explained the reasoning behind its decision in the Season 4 Reloaded blog post. “We want to provide a hard counter to Ghost to offer more variety in the rock-paper-scissors encounters of Battle Royale and open up more play styles.” So not only does Birdseye zoom the mini-map out and reveal an enemy’s direction during UAV and radar pings, but the added benefit of exposing Ghost users finally makes the perk a compelling choice. If you are curious about the full list of changes made in the mid-season update, check out the Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded patch notes.

Warzone 2 devs hint at long-awaited movement changes in the works – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs hint at long-awaited movement changes in the works ActivisionMovement in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is a big deal and players have been desperate for changes. After Season 3 didn’t quite live up to expectations where new movement tweaks were concerned, a new survey has been discovered that hints at further updates to the game’s movement system are coming. It’s fair to say that fans weren’t impressed with the much anticipated Warzone 2 Season 3 update. It promised a lot of changes, but players don’t feel it delivered on its promises. One-shot Snipers returned, but under very limited circumstances, and streamer-hyped proposed movement fixes were supposed to bring back an old-school feel to the game. However, the Season 3 update felt underwhelming for many, causing fans to issue death threats to content creators. It appears as if the devs are listening though as a new survey is teasing the addition of even more movement tinkering in Warzone 2. More movement changes incoming for Warzone 2? As shared by popular Twitter page ModernWarzone, pictures have been captured of a new CoD survey. It pertains to the movement in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 and how players feel about it. It mentions a bunch of classic CoD movement techniques such as Dolphin Diving and Slide canceling – without referencing them specifically, but Warzone 2 and MW2 veterans will be all too familiar with these movement patterns. The survey asks players to give their opinion on each action asking if they feel it’s too slow all the way to it being too fast. There’s no clear indication as to which CoD players have been sent this survey or if the feedback will be addressed. It’s a classic case of waiting to see if the devs feel any major changes are needed moving forward. Warzone 2 players are already very unhappy about being “lied” to with Sniper Rifles as well as the discovery of Warzone 1 skins being reused and sold. If the devs want to stop the player count from plummeting further, new movement changes could be on the menu.

Warzone 2 devs finally respond to broken Birdseye perk – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs finally respond to broken Birdseye perk ActivisionInfinity Ward have finally responded to reports from Warzone 2 players that the Birdseye Ultimate perk is not functioning as intended, confirming they’re investigating and searching for a resolution. Warzone 2, in contrast to its predecessor battle royale, has incorporated Modern Warfare 2’s unique perk system. As a result, players have to choose a Perk Package, giving them two base perks, a bonus perk, and an ultimate perk. One of the ultimate perks players can choose is Birdseye, which means “UAV and Radar pings reveal the enemy’s direction”, rather than just a red dot. Some have previously compared this to an Advanced UAV and creator ZLaner referred to it as “absolutely busted”. Now, it’s been confirmed that it’s malfunctioning in Warzone 2. Warzone 2 devs confirm they’re investigating “broken” Birdseye perk On January 18, Infinity Ward added to their Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Trello board to let players know they’re investigating the perk. The card reads: “We’re aware of an issue where the Birdseye Perk does not function as intended within Battle Royale.” Unfortunately, they did not delve into the specifics of what they’re looking at. Players, though, have been questioning whether it has been working as intended after using it in-game and seeing how powerful it can be – offering near live updates on an enemy location. Unfortunately, they did not offer a timescale on a fix. However, its addition to the Trello board means we can track the progress of a fix based on how it is marked. Now that Infinity Ward are on top of the issue, it’s not unreasonable to expect a fix when Season Two releases. While that was originally set for a February 1 launch date, it has now been delayed by a fortnight and will drop on February 15. We already expect a new Resurgence map, looting changes, and a return to 1v1 Gulag. A Birdseye fix alongside those changes is a possibility.

Warzone 2 devs finally release update for PC performance issues – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs finally release update for PC performance issues Activision BlizzardWarzone 2 has suffered from massive performance issues on PC since Season 4 Reloaded Started. Fortuntaley, the devs took one step closer to finally resolving the issue. Season 4 Reloaded unintentionally introduced a troubling amount of Warzone 2 PC performance issues. Massive dropoffs in performance saw players see FPS numbers dip to as low as 10. Community members took to social media and vented their frustrations. Players labeled the game “unplayable” on PC, and the devs launched an investigation on July 12. After two days of radio silence, frustrations came to a head with impacted users demanding answers. The Warzone 2 devs finally provided a long-awaited update on the investigation results after days of leaving players in the dark, and players who were previously impacted are reporting that their performance has drastically improved. Is Warzone 2 on PC finally fixed? On July 21, The Warzone 2 support team confirmed: “A new update to further address PC performance issues was released this morning. We are continuing to monitor game performance.” The devs didn’t close the case, but several community members reported that the game has returned to its original state before Season 4 Reloaded. Warzone 2 streamer Metaphor claimed: “PC fps has been fixed, thank you!” COD leaker TheGhostOfHope responded: “PC performance is back to how it was pre Season 4 Reloaded for me.” While some players appreciated the devs finally fixing performance issues, others weren’t as forgiving for the fix taking so long. Performance issues impacted the EU and NA WSOW Stage 2 Finals, and a player slammed the devs for not releasing a fix before the major tournament. “It should have been fixed before the World Series of Warzone yesterday.” Hopefully, PC players can finally log back into Warzone 2 without the fear of running into any more game-breaking issues. Warzone 2 devs finally nerf DMZ AI on Al Mazrah and Ashika Island – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs finally nerf DMZ AI on Al Mazrah and Ashika Island ActivisionIn a surprise announcement, Infinity Ward listed to community feedback and nerfed DMZ AI on Al Mazrah and Ashika Island. Warzone 2’s integration of AI enemies has not gone over smoothly with community members. Players recently blasted the “out of touch” devs for adding them to Ashika Island as part of the Search & Seizure Contract. Content creators even advised the WZ2 developers not to follow through with AI plans before the battle royale was released. Major concerns stem from AI being too accurate, spawning inconsistently, and dealing too much damage. Infinity Ward decreased the enemy difficulty in Season 1 Reloaded and doubled down in the Season 2 update, adjusting spawning and damage at range. Both updates still weren’t enough to tame AI enemies. DMZ AI damage nerfed in surprise update After the Season 2 update went live, DMZ YouTuber Westie argued AI still didn’t work as the developers said it would. On March 1, as part of Infinity Ward’s weekly playlist update, the developers also announced changes to DMZ AI. “We’ve also introduced some moderate changes to DMZ AI damage across Al Mazrah and Ashika Island.” It remains to be seen what exact changes were made, but community members celebrated the announcement. Warzone 2 YouTuber MrDalekJD wanted more clarification, asking, “any specifics on what “moderate changes” actually mean? We assume this means AI will do less damage to players now but is that what’s changed? A second player joked, “ah yes, the gold old specific changes we wanted.” We will provide an update when we learn specific details about how AI changed on Al Mazrah and Ashika Island.

Warzone 2 devs finally make long-awaited movement changes – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs finally make long-awaited movement changes ActivisionWarzone 2 didn’t go as far as re-introducing slide canceling, but Season 5 has added a few long-awaited movement changes. Infinity Ward controversially removed slide canceling from Warzone 2. The movement mechanic served as an effective tool to get around the map quicker and finesse enemies in gunfights. Some community members argued it’s become too hard to escape an engagement or rotate to a new circle without it. In July, Modern Warzone conducted a poll asking players if they approve of removing slide canceling. Out of 45,000 votes, 64% claimed they were unhappy over the decision to remove the feature. The Warzone 2 devs listened to community feedback and brought movement speed one step closer to how it functioned in the original battle royal experience. Warzone 2 Season 5 slide and jump changes Season 5 decreased slide time and increased slide velocity, making it easier for players to cover a greater distance in a shorter amount of time. The update also allows players to fire sooner after initiating a slide. Additionally, the devs made a small increase to the lateral velocity boost while jumping and a small reduction to the landing slowdown penalty while landing. These changes should make dodging enemies in gunfights feel more fluid than before. Warzone 2 content creator Ghost Wacke showed off how the new movement changes look in-game. Ghost Wacke confirmed: “With sliding, you go a lot farther,” and operators shoot faster after sliding, too. It remains to be seen how much of a difference the jumping changes made. These improvements aren’t exactly what Warzone 2 community members asked for, but it’s a compromise providing more fluidity. And fans may not have to wait too long to receive the real thing. A Modern Warfare 3 leak revealed slide canceling is in the current build of the upcoming COD game. For more on Warzone 2, check out the full Season 5 patch notes.

Warzone 2 devs finally announce playlist rotation for Resurgence maps – Dexerto
Warzone 2 devs finally announce playlist rotation for Resurgence maps ActivisionWarzone 2 introduces a Resurgence map rotation in Season 4 Reloaded, which switches between Vondel and Ashika Island. Raven Software has caught some flack from community members over weekly playlist updates. Every week, the devs roll out a new set of available modes, maps, and squad sizes. Players particularly took issue with the devs neglecting solos, duos, trios, and quads. For example, Warzone 2 went multiple weeks without a solo squad size option on Al Mazrah. And recently, the devs made all three battle royale maps playable, but heavily restricted the available squad sizes for each environment. To possibly rectify those concerns, the devs are taking a page from Apex Legends’ book and implementing a time-based map rotation system. How does the Warzone 2 playlist map rotation work? On July 10, Activision released snippets of information about Season 4 Reloaded. Battle royale fans can expect a crossover with The Boys, a standard battle royale mode on Vondel, and a new gulag. A standard battle royale playlist on Vondel means there are now four different core experiences in Warzone 2. With so many cooks in the kitchen, Raven Software announced a new way to keep player engagement fresh. For just Resurgence, there will be a time-based rotation system. In the Season 4 Reloaded preview blog post, the devs explained what fans can expect from the new map rotation system. “After a certain amount of time specified in-game, the Rotating Resurgence Playlists will shift from Vondel to Ashika Island and vice-versa for a given squad size.” Apex Legends uses a very similar system. Every season, Respawn Entertainment chooses three battle royale maps and rotates between them depending on the time of the day. How this move will go over with the Warzone 2 community remains to be seen. But at least fans won’t have to wait a full week before diving back into their favorite Resurgence map.
