What is the best gun in Vanguard? Top 10 most popular weapons ActivisionVanguard officially launched in November 2021, and a meta quickly formed with weapons such as the STG44, Combat Shotgun, and MP40 hitting hard right out of the gate. But what are the best guns in Vanguard, and which weapons are actually the most popular in the game? The Vanguard meta has shifted gradually throughout its lifespan, from an abundance of STGs to a frustrating swath of shotguns mowing you down with ease. That said, there’s a whole host of other weapons getting a decent run of play in the multiplayer modes. Here are the top 10 most popular weapons in the game based on kill share percentage, with data provided by CoDRanked, allowing you to determine what is the best gun in Vanguard. Most used CoD Vanguard weapons Before kicking off the list, it’s worth noting that there is no data for Submachine Guns in the stats provided, and this has been the case since the game launched. So, while guns like the MP40 are insanely popular, they’re not counted among the most popular in this list. 10. DP27 (LMG) The only LMG on the list, the DP27 has an insane DPS and floats in that middle ground between an LMG and an AR, meaning it’s slightly more mobile than other weapons in its class. It has a 3.5% killshare according to CoDRanked, but the 1.32 average KD definitely makes it worthwhile trying. 9. Kar98 (Sniper) The Kar98 has long been one of the most popular weapons in any CoD game it exists in, including being the primary sniper in Warzone for almost two years. It’s similarly as popular in Vanguard, with a 3.7% killshare — far above the next sniper, the 3-Line Rifle, which has just 1.4%. 8. AS44 (AR) The AS44 makes its return in Vanguard, and seems a sturdy pick among a very top-heavy meta. It has a 5.0% kill share rate and a 19% headshot ratio, making it clinical for those with good aim. 7. Volkssturmgewehr (AR) A bit of a tongue twister, most players will often refer to the Volkssturmgewehr as just the “Volk.” But while pronunciation is tough, the gun itself is even tougher. The Volk has a 5.0% kill share and is definitely on the higher end of ARs in the game — well worth trying out if you’re getting tired of the STG. 6. MG42 (LMG) The only LMG to feature in the top 10, the MG42 is the first LMG unlocked and is fairly mobile, great if you want a weapon that will hit hard but doesn’t require being sat too still. The MG42 has a 5.1% kill share in Vanguard, and with a great rate of fire, mag size, and relatively easy recoil, it’s well worth running some games with to see what you can do. 5. BAR (AR) Fans of 2017’s CoD: WWII will remember the BAR being a dominant force in the meta, and while it’s not quite as popular, it’s still proving to be a fan-favorite four years later. The BAR has a 5.9% kill share in Vanguard, and a 1.34 KD, making it one of the most lethal in the game. 4. NZ-41 (AR) The NZ-41 isn’t a classic Call of Duty like the BAR or STG, but it’s proving to be popular enough in Vanguard. The weapon has a 6.0% kill share rate and ranks as the third most used AR in Vanguard. It might not be the best gun in Vanguard, but it’s definitely up there. 3. Combat Shotgun At this point, we’ve all seen the viral clips of Vanguard players abusing the Combat Shotgun in Das Haus to secure fast V2 Rockets, and since they can one-shot players with almost laughable ease, it’s not hard to see why it’s so popular. With a 9.3% kill share, the Combat Shotgun has become a fearsome opponent in the game and one that many players dread coming up against. Unfortunately for them, that’s almost impossible right now. 2. Automaton (AR) From the Automaton and up, the kill share ratio jumps up drastically. The Automaton is at 13.2%, and is by far the second-most popular assault rifle in Vanguard. You can use the best Automaton loadout to rack up some serious kills in Vanguard, but you’ll have to get through the teething pains of controlling its recoil and coming up against STG players at first. 1. STG44 (AR) Was there ever any doubt? With a 22.4% kill share, the STG is by far the most popular and the best gun in Vanguard, and that’s unlikely to change any time soon unless the weapon gets a serious nerf. The STG has also been in and out of the Warzone meta consistently, at times becoming the favored assault rifle among some hugely powerful weapons. While the SMG data isn’t available, it doesn’t take a genius to see how much weapons like the MP40 dominate, especially in Ranked Play where top players look to get the best of each other.

Top 10 most overpowered Call of Duty weapons of all time – Dexerto
Top 10 most overpowered Call of Duty weapons of all time Dexerto/ActivisionThe Call of Duty series has had some truly memorable weapons over the years, some for good reasons and some for bad. Here, we choose the 10 most overpowered CoD weapons of all time. Any long time Call of Duty fan will know that the series has had more than its fair share of insanely strong weapons. While strong weapons are unanimously favored, these 10 transcended the term ‘strong’ and morphed into overpowered. These are weapons that can easily be classed as broken because of how strong they became. They may have been fun to use, but they were undoubtedly infuriating to die to. Needless to say that this list is subjective, so you might disagree. We’ll count down from 10 to 1 and then finish with some honorable mentions for guns that were crazy, but couldn’t quite break the top 10. 10. Bal-27 – Advanced Warfare The Bal itself was seriously powerful in Advanced Warfare, but one variant, in particular, stands out from the rest – the Obsidian Steed. Minimal recoil, a high fire rate, and top tier damage meant this AR dominated all forms of Advanced Warfare. Weapon balancing was not one of the stronger aspects of Sledgehammer’s first CoD title. 9. Famas – Black Ops Black Ops’ Famas ditched the Modern Warfare 2 burst fire mechanism in favor of a fully automatic weapon. The result was a seriously strong AR, in a game full of viable ARs. Clean iron sights and high damage saw this gun outperform every other weapon in the inaugural Black Ops game. 8. 725 – Modern Warfare Anyone who played 2019’s Modern Warfare in its first few months will know of the 725 shotgun. Its one-hit capabilities were, quite simply, ridiculous. Even without the Slug Rounds, this gun could one hit an enemy from hip-fire at SMG range. If you haven’t been sniped across Shoothouse with the 725, consider yourself lucky that it’s now at a much more reasonable level. 7. Marshal 16 – Black Ops III The Marshal 16 was added as a DLC pocket shotgun, late into Black Ops III’s life cycle. It was supposed to a reworked version of the Black Ops II Executioner, that many will remember as completely useless. Unfortunately, Treyarch went too far the other way, and made the Marshal 16 far too strong. A one-hit kill at ludicrous ranges, it quickly became the strongest shotgun in the game in spite of its classification as a secondary. What made it even worse, was the ability to run the weapon Dual Wield. We all had a promising streak ruined by these. 6. Vector CRB – Ghosts Any avid player of Ghosts will remember the buff and nerfs given to the Vector CRB. Infinity Ward struggled to balance it, and it grew to be one of the best weapons in the game for the majority of its life cycle. It was brought back in 2019’s Modern Warfare as the Fennec which, thankfully, is significantly weaker. 5. 205 Brecci – Black Ops III Players are still frustrated with Treyarch over the lack of a Brecci nerf at any point in Black Ops III. The semi-automatic shotgun was a consistent two-hit kill, regardless of hip-firing or ADS. It also caused an unholy amount of flinch for any player on the receiving end, meaning accurate return fire was nigh on impossible. 4. M16A4 – Modern Warfare (2007) An overpowered burst fire weapon is pretty rare in any CoD game. The original M16A4, however, is the exception. Brought back in Modern Warfare Remastered, the three-round burst weapon was incredibly powerful. Zero recoil and incredible range make this one of the most powerful assault rifles in CoD history. Moreover, it never received a nerf in Modern Warfare and long dominated the game, as well as the 2016 Remaster. 3. MP40 – World at War Another gun from an older CoD title, World at War’s MP40 stood out as the game’s strongest weapon by a significant margin. Its larger magazine, paired with strong damage and iron sights, meant you couldn’t go a game in this WW2 shooter without being destroyed by the infamous german SMG. It has returned in a host of other games, thankfully never as strong as its WaW version. 2. Grenade Launchers – Modern Warfare 2 In our number two spot, we’ve gone for Grenade Launchers from Modern Warfare 2. It’s fairly vague, but anyone who played the 2009 title will know exactly what we’re talking about. ‘Noob tubes’ pretty much guaranteed a kill off spawn for the user, requiring next to no accuracy or talent. Pair this with One Man Army Pro and it’s no mystery why they were so common – and frustrating. 1. Akimbo Model 1887s – Modern Warfare 2 Our number one slot goes to the Akimbo Model 1887s from Modern Warfare 2. What else could have claimed the gold medal? MW2’s lack of balancing is one thing that made it a crazy title. The Model 1887s however, took it too far. If one wasn’t bad enough, they could be run akimbo and basically guaranteed a one-hit kill. Even if they didn’t manage it, their rapid reload and ridiculous range was near unstoppable. Thankfully, they received a major nerf some way into MW2, but they remain the most ridiculous, overpowered weapon in CoD history. Honorable Mentions We’re rounding off our list with some honorable mentions. These are weapons that were certainly overpowered, but didn’t quite make the cut into the top 10. There’s a couple from Infinite Warfare, as well as a few more from Modern Warfare 2. Proteus – Infinite Warfare – OSA – Infinite Warfare – Vesper – Black Ops III – Maddox RFB – Black Ops 4 – UMP45 – Modern Warfare 2 – ACR – Modern Warfare 2 – SPAS-12 – Modern Warfare 2 – MP7 – Modern Warfare 3 – Which weapon did we miss? What’s the most overpowered weapon in CoD history in your opinion? Be sure to tweet us @DexertoIntel to let us know!

Top 10 most incredible Warzone streamer moments so far – Dexerto
Top 10 most incredible Warzone streamer moments so far Dexerto With plenty of big names taking their talents to Call of Duty: Warzone, we round up the top 10 most incredible streamer moments from week one. Warzone has taken the battle royale genre by storm, garnering over 30 million players within the first 10 days. It should come as no surprise then, that there has been a plethora of jaw-dropping plays and epic moments that have taken place in Verdansk. Kicking off things is Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, who succumbed to the perils of gravity after dismounting his ATV on a hill. Without suspecting a thing, Ninja’s vehicle rolled back and took him out — live in front of Jaryd ‘Summit1G’ Lazar’s audience. From an epic fail to some instant karma, Dr Disrespect learned that vehicles aren’t, in fact, invincible, after taunting an enemy while he attempted to use his SUV to wipe-out his opponent. One RPG later and the Doc found himself being dragged into the Gulag! Clinching the top spot with a stunning play of his own, is former Call of Duty pro, Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, who landed a marksman-esque shot to take down not one, but two players from a flying chopper with one bullet. The 100 Thieves owner was as shocked as everyone watching on, as he exclaimed: “I got a collat, I got a collat through the helicopter!” Check out the rest of our top 10 plays, fails, and funny moments from Warzone so far, and see what you think!

Top 10 moments from CDL Stage 2 Major | Accuracy’s historic clutch! – Dexerto
Top 10 moments from CDL Stage 2 Major | Accuracy’s historic clutch! The Call of Duty League’s $500,000 Stage 2 Major will go down in the books as one of the more wild and entertaining tournaments in competitive CoD history, offer no shortage of incredible moments and insane plays. Toronto Ultra shocked the CDL when they knocked off the almighty Atlanta FaZe in the Grand Final to win the Stage 2 Major, a feat that very few had imagined they would be able to achieve. Therefore, it shouldn’t come as a shock that the event’s top-10 moments were littered with plays made by the Ultra players, especially the likes of Bance and CleanX, who gave performances for the ages. FaZe’s Simp, arguably the best player in the league right now, is also featured prominently, as he was his usual stellar self throughout the Major, earning him Team of the Week honors. But, of course, there is no one who could argue what the week’s most outstanding play was: Accuracy orchestrated a remarkable 1v3 clutch to eliminate OpTic Chicago – a moment that will live forever in pro CoD history. The circumstances of the play was really what made it that much more mindblowing; not only did it come in game five, round 11, Accuracy would have probably had zero chance to pull it off if the OpTic players hadn’t lined up for him the way they did – pretty much a ‘one in a million’ type situation. For more info about the 2021 season, make sure to check out our CDL hub for live standings, full event schedule, and more.

Top 10 moments from CDL London – Dexerto
Top 10 moments from CDL London Katy Eyre / ESPAT MediaCDL London is now in the books, with Chicago Huntsmen taking the win after a hard-fought run of matches against Dallas Empire, Paris Legion, and the Los Angeles Guerrillas. It provided some incredible moments for CoD fans – but which were the best? As always, the UK crowd was out in full force to support their heroes, and it inspired a multitude of incredible moments. But which were the best? With some eye-watering plays, incredible fan moments, and the electric personalities on stage, we’ve managed to put together the top ten moments from CDL London. 10. H3CZ saves a fan from being kicked out Forever a man of the people, H3CZ has become a fan-favorite over the years, and he proved why after saving a fan from a possible removal from the event. The spectator, who was reveling in the celebrations and had decided to build a tower of empty beer cups, was pulled away by security before the Huntsmen CEO stepped in to get him back to his friends. To chants of “Hector to the rescue”, H3CZ showed exactly why he and the Huntsmen have such a strong fanbase in the CoD community. 9. Aches is going home Aches is the perennial villain of the Call of Duty scene: you love him, you hate him or you simply love to hate him. He gets people interested, and when he got knocked out of the tournament, the London crowd couldn’t contain their excitement, singing to the tune of the infamous “football’s coming home.” Chants of “Aches is going home” reverberated throughout the Copper Box Arena, as the LA Guerrillas player had to hang his head and pack up his belongings to disappear until the next event. 8. Scump interview after beating Dallas first time Scump was clearly delighted hot off of Chicago Huntsmen’s first win against Dallas Empire in the group stage. With fans singing Sweet Caroline in the background, Scump was asked what he thought of the crowd, and with a huge grin on his face, he told the viewers how awesome they are. Not only that, but he also threw back to his teammate Arcitys’ launch weekend interview, saying that “sh*t was easy” after their emphatic win against Dallas. 7. Clayster silences the crowd Players and fans alike will often note how incredible the UK crowds are at esports events, Call of Duty or otherwise. CDL London was no different, with the fans out in full force, singing and chanting for their favorites, booing the villains, and overall just having a great time. However, after knocking out the London side, Clayster decided to give a little back to the home fans, taking his headset off of his head and shushing the crowd, who were already downtrodden from the result. There wasn’t too much spite in the act, with Clay laughing and obviously meaning it in good spirits. He took to Twitter afterward, saying that it’s “all in good fun” and that he “had a blast.” 6. Challenger bracket pops off The challenger bracket, formerly known as the open bracket and more endearingly known as the Passion Pit, is where aspiring professionals meet to showcase their talents to the community and prove why they deserve to be in the Call of Duty League. As such, these players aren’t limited by the likes of brand deals and sponsorships so can be a little more vocal when they secure the win – making for some highlight reel moments as they lay into their opponents. It’s always hilarious to see and is a great reminder of the fact that esports is still very much a grassroots project, despite how big it has become. 5. Madcat lets Censor know what he thinks of him Madcat is a national hero for UK Call of Duty fans, a veteran of the scene that has provided them with both brilliant plays, manic moments, and hilarious quotes over the years. After taking part in the 2v2 Hype Battle alongside DJ Nicky Romero, facing off against Censor and Newcastle defender Jamaal Lascelles, Madcat had something to say about his New York Subliners opposition. After some friendly trash talk throughout their match, Madcat was asked about teaming with Romero, and his response was brilliant. He said that if Censor could do it, the DJ could do it too, with roars from the crowd letting Madcat know he had nailed it with his response. 4. Gunless pulls off 1v3 clutch against Dallas Empire As expected, Gunless and the entire Chicago squad were on great form once again in London, putting themselves atop the Call of Duty League standings after a solid showing throughout the opening weekends. However, Gunless showed just how valuable a player he is with this insane 1v3 clutch, shaming the Dallas Empire players with one of the most ice-cold, high IQ clutches we’ve seen so far in Modern Warfare. 3. Rated turns on Crimsix to win the map The London crowd was as raucous as ever at CDL London, but rarely more so than Rated’s incredibly clutch play to help give London Royal Ravens the map 1 win against Dallas Empire, with the teams separated by only 8 points. Though the final scoreline wasn’t something the home crowd would’ve asked for, this play gave them something to cheer, a moment to be hyped about and, most importantly, a level of hope that English sports fans have become unfamiliar with over the years. 2. Rich gets pied Rich Campbell made a surprise return to the Call of Duty desk after some time off, bringing his distinctive voice and dress sense to an already eccentric event. He attempted to celebrate desk host Lottie’s birthday with a song and cake but got a lot more than he bargained for. Skrapz, ever the crowd-pleaser, decided to give Rich a face full of cake after he suggested his London team didn’t deserve to win, leaving the broadcaster looking a complete mess. 1. T2P return to their glory days The return of Time 2 Pound, the phrase that represents one of Call of Duty’s most iconic duos in Scump and Formal, has left fans excited ever since it was announced. Coming in to the tournament as favorites, fans were looking forward to seeing them back in action, and the moment that they secured the tournament win once again after so many months apart left supporters in the arena and at home ecstatic. Plus, it definitely helps that they beat former teammate Crimsix in the process. With such an explosive and supportive spectatorship, CDL London was guaranteed to be an incredible event, and it lived up to expectations in a multitude of ways. It’s not easy to rank each of the incredible moments from the event, but we believe these are certainly up there – do you agree?

Top 10 highest KD ratios at CDL Champs 2022 – Dexerto
Top 10 highest KD ratios at CDL Champs 2022 Call of Duty LeagueCDL Champs 2022 proved to be a stomping ground for CoD’s best players, and several individuals went huge for their teams. Here are the top 10 KD ratios from the tournament. The LA Thieves were standing at the top of the mountain after a grueling CDL Champs 2022. Led by Kenneth ‘Kenny’ Williams and company, LA pulled off an improbable run, defeating the reigning champions Atlanta FaZe in the grand finals. The CDL also announced its 2022 all-star teams during Champs weekend and named an MVP and Rookie of The Year. Cellium earned MVP honors, and Pred walked away with the first-ever Rookie of The Year trophy. Cellium and Pred finished top three for overall KD ratio at CDL Champs 2022. Here are the top performers from Champs weekend. Top 10 KD Ratios at CDL Champs 2022 10. Drazah: 1.05 KD Zack ‘Drazah’ Jordan claimed that The LA Thieves “can easily beat any team” in an April Dexerto interview, and his CDL Champs 2022 performance backed the claim up. Drazah recorded a CDL Champs second best 1.43 KD in SnD and finished with an overall KD ratio of 1.05. The rising star delivered in the Grand Final against FaZe with a team second-best 118 kills. 9. Methodz: 1.10 KD It was a disappointing conclusion to the Boston Breach’s inaugural CDL season, but Anthony ‘Methodz’ Zinni showcased his talent on the main stage. The veteran AR recorded a 1.10 overall KD ratio, and he almost helped lead the Boston Breach to an upset victory over LA Thieves in Winners round one. 4. Octane: 1.12 KD Sam ‘Octane’ Larew recorded a team-best 1.12 overall KD ratio and was instrumental in the LA Thieves CDL 2022 Champs run. Octane recorded a team-high 69 kills in the LA Thieves’ 3-0 sweep of OpTic Texas and had a jaw-dropping 1.77 KD. 3. Pred: 1.13 KD Amer ‘Pred’ Zulbeari’s Tuscan Hardpoint performance against FaZe will go down in history and the CDL Rookie of The Year helped lead the young and talented Surge squad to the Losers Finals. Pred recorded a lobby-high 95 kills in Seattle’s 3-1 victory over OpTic Texas in Losers Round three. The Rookie of The Year also finished with a lobby-high 94 kills against FaZe in Winners Round two. 2. Dashy 1.17 KD Brandon ‘Dashy’ Otell must wait another year before potentially winning his first World Championship, but “Bruce” had a strong CDL Champs 2022 performance. Dashy’s 90-kill performance against Seattkle in Losers Round three was the best amongst his teammates, and his 1.32 overall KD led both teams. 1. Cellium 1.32 KD McArthur ‘Cellium’ Jovel couldn’t repeat as back-to-back World Champion, but the world-class AR had a phenomenal individual weekend. Cellium finished with 95 kills, recorded a 1.44 overall KD against Seattle in Losers Finals, and had a 1.44 overall KD ratio against Seattele in Winners Round two. Note: All stats are provided by breakingpoint.gg CDL Champs 2022 drew CoD’s best viewership since the 2020 Modern Warfare season, and the showstopping individual performances played a vital role in the tournament’s success.

Top 10 FormaL Moments Before Black Ops 4 – Dexerto
Top 10 FormaL Moments Before Black Ops 4 Matthew ‘FormaL‘ Piper is generally considered one of the best ARs in Call of Duty history, since he made the switch from Halo back in 2013. Here, we’ve compiled his 10 best plays before this year’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. FormaL is best known for his time on OpTic Gaming, from November 2014 to May 2018, which saw him win his CoD World Championship 2017, during the Infinite Warfare season. At the 2017 World Championships, FormaL won the MVP award for his incredible performances, as he used the NV4 to dominate all medium and long-ranged engagements he found himself in. FormaL’s time on OpTic came to an end during the WW2 season, as he moved to Luminosity Gaming, where, at the time of writing, he still plays as a main AR. We’ve compiled a number of his best clips, mainly from his Advanced Warfare season and Infinite Warfare. As previously mentioned, he was known for his incredible NV4 dominance, but was no slouch with the KBS Longbow either, as a number of Infinite Warfare clips prove. A number of the clips also come from CoD: Ghosts, reflecting Piper’s natural talent for Call of Duty, as it was the first game in which he went pro after transitioning from Halo. The remaining clips come from Advanced Warfare, the game in which FormaL ultimately made his name, as part of the OpTic Gaming roster that would dominate Call of Duty until the end of the Infinite Warfare season. With a long career still ahead of him, we’re certain there will be plenty more high level plays, with FormaL firmly considered one of, if not the best, first-person shooter console player of all time.

Top 10 Dr Disrespect Modern Warfare moments – Dexerto
Top 10 Dr Disrespect Modern Warfare moments Dr Disrespect has been absolutely tearing it up on the Modern Warfare servers. Here are some of his best moments in the game so far. The Doc, also known to his fans as the 1994-1995 back to back Blockbuster video game champion, is one of the biggest names on Amazon’s Twitch platform. The charismatic 6 foot 8 former collegiate athlete dons a legendary mullet and handlebar mustache five days a week for an ever-growing fan base across the world looking for the core three ingredients that make up his stream; violence, speed, momentum. Prior to streaming to millions across the world, Doc spent much of his career working as a map designer for some of the biggest names in the games industry, with his most talked about work on Advanced Warfare as part of the Call of Duty series. He has even used his skills as a developer to provide his own designs for Modern Warfare maps, which the community have praised as being “better” than maps in the game. His background in CoD is perhaps one of the reasons why the Doc has spent so much time playing 2019’s game; Modern Warfare. The Infinity Ward shooter has received plenty of criticism since launch, and of course, the two-time champion hasn’t held back letting the developers know exactly what is wrong with it. Despite all the issues, he continues to play on, and to celebrate we’ve teamed up with G FUEL to look at his top 10 moments from his first few months playing. Did we miss any of your favorite moments? Let us know on Twitter @Dexerto!

Top 10 CDL Toronto moments – Dexerto
Top 10 CDL Toronto moments Toronto Ultra’s Home Series kicked off Stage 2 with a reshuffling of the groups, giving players a whole new set of matchups to kick off the event. But with so many pros performing at the peak of their game, which ones really stood out from the crowd? After a monumental performance, one thing is clear: FaZe is still untouchable. As Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson & co. continue their Stage 1 form, they top Group A. Meanwhile, OpTic Chicago & Dallas Empire sit joint-top of Group B after a solid weekend. With plenty of fresh faces debuting, and from insane clutches to ruthless slaying, we’ve picked out the top 10 moments. Seattle Surge’s Daniel ‘Loony’ Loza proved his veteran IQ with a big-brained flank that sealed the match against Mutineers hook, line, and sinker. Danish star Tobias ‘CleanX’ Juul Jønsson pushed Ultra to great heights with S&D finesse, keeping a composed 1v2 as his squad leveled the series. S&D maestro, Tyler ‘aBeZy’ Pharris came in with savvy rotations and ruthless aggression, acing his play in peak performance that continues to show his star power. Top 10 Call of Duty players of all time following last ever CoD Champs – Dexerto
Top 10 Call of Duty players of all time following last ever CoD Champs As the curtain falls on the last ever Call of Duty World Championship, with franchising on the horizon, here’s the top 10 professional players of all time. As 18-year-old Chris ‘Simp’ Lehr hoisted the MVP trophy after winning the 2019 CWL Championship with eUnited in his rookie year, accompanied by his 19-year-old teammate Tyler ‘aBeZy’ Pharris, there was a palpable shift in CoD esports: out with the old, in with the new. Black Ops 4 is the final year of the game as we’ve known and loved it, as we look forward to the city-based franchise league for 2020 and Modern Warfare. To sign off, here are my top 10 players from the past decade of competitive Call of Duty. First off, an explanation of the criteria. The ranking on this list is based primarily on LAN (offline) tournament wins, with extra credit given for Champs victories (rings). Major tournaments like Playoffs are given more weight too, followed by CWL/MLG open events, as well as X Games medals. Note that prize money is counted for offline winnings only. More subjectively, individual performances or traits like ‘gun skill’ and leadership qualities are also considered, but not weighted as highly as raw results. 10. Austin ‘SlasheR’ Liddicoat 7 LAN wins, 1 ring, $623,730 won The tenth spot on the list was possibly the hardest to decide. Other Champs winners like Johnathon ‘John’ Perez and Dillon ‘Attach’ Price came to mind, as did legendary players who never quite managed a CoD champs ring. But it has to be SlasheR. Although he has competed since Black Ops 2, Advanced Warfare was SlasheR’s breakout season, and since then he has consistently been one of the top three AR’s in the world, alongside Sam ‘Octane’ Larew and Matthew ‘FormaL’ Piper. He beats out the former to this top 10 thanks to his 2016 Champs victory, but there’s little between the pair – and when Nadeshot combined them on 100 Thieves, they were bound to do great things. SlasheR was crucial in the 2016 Champs win, and almost dragged that Envy roster to back-to-back rings at the 2017 Champs too, but they ran into a formidable OpTic, and SlasheR’s greatest rival, FormaL, in the grand final. SlasheR’s career so far has been spent at the very top, and any team with him on the roster is always in contention to win an event. 9. Tyler ‘TeePee’ Polchow 16 LAN wins, 1 ring, $200,200 won I pity newer Call of Duty esports fans, who never got to see TeePee at his dominant best. An integral part of the first great dynasty of CoL/EG, TeePee and his squad went into every event just knowing they would win – and win they did. His total prize money is lower than others on this list, but that’s only down to the lesser prize pools on offer when TeePee was in his prime. Admittedly, TeePee’s time at the top didn’t last, and he found himself out of roster options after he and ACHES were replaced on Envy in Black Ops III, forcing him into an early retirement. But, although his career petered off, simultaneously with the addition of jet packs, it shouldn’t negate the dominance displayed particularly in Black Ops 2 and Ghosts. The CoL/EG dynasty won 12 out of 16 major events they attended, including of course the big one at CoD Champs 2014, and they only failed to reach the grand final on two occasions. TeePee was an incredibly smart player, who just seemed to know the correct play to make all of the time, and his record demands a place in the top 10. 8. Jordan ‘JKap’ Kaplan 10 LAN wins, 2 rings, $678,279 won When I first started planning this list, I expected JKap to be higher than eighth. One of the true veterans of CoD, his individual performances in early titles like Modern Warfare 2, his astoundingly consistent LAN record, and of course his two Champs victories make him one of the most decorated players. But, when all things are considered, I think the players above him are justified. JKap was one of the best individual players in the early days of competitive Call of Duty – those who watched MW2 competitive even contend he was the very best – and as his long career has progressed, his transition to a leadership and mentorship role has been smooth, while he still has the raw gun skill to compete at the top – at least most of the time. At the biggest event of the year, any team with JKap has always been a contender, and he is the only player to have placed top 8 at every Champs (2nd, 6th, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 6th, 8th). He wasn’t topping leaderboards during many of these runs, but his teammates would no doubt testify that without him, it wouldn’t have been possible. Despite finishing 2nd at the 2017 Champs, the 0-10 comeback vs eUnited on Precinct Uplink is testament to JKap’s value. A listen-in with Envy captured the crucial moments where he led his team, with perfect callouts and strategy, to arguably the greatest single-map comeback ever. So, why isn’t JKap higher? Unfortunately, poor individual performances at some events have often left him looking like the weak link on a roster, and although his experience and leadership qualities cannot be understated, there are simply players who have been more impactful in their biggest wins, like the man up next. 7. Bryan ‘Apathy’ Zhelyazkov 7 LAN wins, 2 rings, $574,275 won On paper, it could be argued that JKap has Apathy beat – more wins, more prize money and 2 rings apiece. But, what these stats don’t show is the impact Apathy has had on his respective rosters. Despite competing since Black Ops 1, his career didn’t really get into full-swing until Ghosts, as his Black Ops 2 season was distracted by college commitments. In Ghosts, he helped FaZe Clan to their first-ever tournament win and secured a silver medal at X Games with Team Kaliber, and it was clear Apathy was destined to be a top player. Since then, he has competed at the very top level of professional Call of Duty consistently and was rewarded with his first ring at Black Ops III Champs in 2016, where he was able to outshine his rival SMG player, Seth ‘Scump’ Abner. He would return to yet another Champs grand final in 2017, and despite falling short here, was right back in another in 2018, and this time didn’t let it slip, securing the biggest underdog win at any Champs with EG. He and JKap are the only players to reach the grand final of Champs three years in a row, but Apathy’s performance in all three of these (two of which were with JKap) undoubtedly outshone his teammate. Apathy also has a whopping eleven 2nd place finishes in his career – if he had converted a few of those, he might be even higher on this list. 6. Patrick ‘ACHES’ Price 17 LAN wins, 2 rings, $466,045 won Like picking between Apathy and JKap, deciding between sixth and fifth was another tricky choice, but I believe ACHES is just edged out of the top five. Like TeePee, ACHES was probably the most integral part of the CoL/EG dynasty. Admittedly, the level of competition was perhaps reduced compared to the reign of OpTic’s dynasty, but the sheer dominance of the squad remains unrivaled, and ACHES was at its core. Of course, his 17 wins and two rings speak for themselves, but ACHES is another player that is so much more than his stats. Although a top slayer in Black Ops 2 and even more so in Ghosts, ACHES, like JKap, is now considered more of a leader – a cool head in the big moments – than an out-and-out slayer. He also has a remarkable eye for talent, responsible for unearthing some of the greatest players in CoD history – some of which have usurped him on this very list. Despite his decorated career, ACHES misses out on the top five due to his up-and-down results. After winning the first event of the Advanced Warfare season, it wouldn’t be until nearly four years later that he would win another, but it was the big one at the 2018 Champs. In that dry spell though, five top 20s, five top 16s and a litany of top 8s was the story for ACHES, and for a time it was doubtful that he would ever challenge at the top again. His gun skill has also been suspect at times, but on occasion, he will show that he’s still capable of putting up numbers. Regardless of the low points in his career, ACHES’ early years, and his comeback to the very top to win his second ring in WWII, prove that he is more than worthy of being named among the very best in the annals of CoD esports. 5. James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks 15 LAN wins, 2 rings, $709,279 won Clayster and ACHES was the closest call for this list, and if you were to argue that the latter deserved a spot in the top five more, it would be a fair assessment. However, Clayster has proven greater adaptability to the ever-changing Call of Duty games released each year; a top player in every game, regardless of boots-on-the-ground or jetpack chaos. Clayster played his own part in the early days of the CoL/EG dynasty too, dominating much of Black Ops 2 alongside ACHES, TeePee, and Crimsix under compLexity. He became a household name in Ghosts as part of the X Games-winning OpTic roster, and then won his first Champs in Advanced Warfare, a season in which he was, in many fans’ estimation, the best assault rifle player throughout. Other top AR players like Huke and FormaL rivaled him, but Clayster was truly a top slayer in his role. Like ACHES, Clayster experienced his own winless drought, a whopping 1400 days to be exact, but throughout this time, as a member of FaZe and eUnited, his teams always felt just one stroke of luck away from a championship. It finally came towards the tail end of Black Ops 4, with wins at the two biggest events of the year, CWL Finals and CWL Champs – and this is how Clayster just knocked ACHES out of the top five at the last possible moment, at the final CoD Champs. 4. Matthew ‘FormaL’ Piper 21 LAN wins, 1 ring, $582,295 won He may have a ring less than Clayster and ACHES, but FormaL’s domination of the Call of Duty scene since his transition from Halo warrants his place above them on this list. Transitioning from Halo during CoD: Ghosts, FormaL quickly established himself as the hottest prospect in CoD, and by the end of the season, some considered him the best overall player – and he was only getting started. His performance in Ghosts had made him an obvious choice to complete the all-star OpTic Gaming roster, and the rest is history. Their infamous 7th place at AW Champs was more than made up for with nine other wins that season, and when Black Ops III arrived, FormaL and his M8A7 were a scary sight for every opponent. They famously fell short once again at 2016 Champs, at the hands of ACHES’ Cloud9, despite dominating for most of the year again. When Infinite Warfare came around, FormaL took his game up another level, if that was even possible. This time, they made no mistakes at Champs, winning two best-of-5 series to snatch victory and take the world championship crown from eClasico rivals Envy. FormaL’s 1.44 K/D ratio at the event still holds the record for the highest K/D by a player at Champs. Throughout four years of Call of Duty, FormaL was comfortably a top 3 AR, alongside SlasheR and Octane. A disappointing Black Ops 4 season overall is perhaps the low-point of FormaL’s career so far, but he still won an event, CWL Fort Worth, and finished with the highest overall damage-per-minute at the 2019 Champs. He will be one of the most desired talents heading into franchising. 3. Seth ‘Scump’ Abner 27 LAN wins, 1 ring, $652,140 won There is little that can be said about Scump that hasn’t been said a million times over. In addition to being the biggest name in Call of Duty esports, he’s also inarguably the greatest SMG player of all time. Even if you have never watched a second of Scump play, his 27 career wins speak for themselves, but you can only truly appreciate his skill by watching one of the many montages of his illustrious career, taking in the endless highlight moments he always produces. Starting out alongside ACHES and TeePee on Quantic Leverage in Black Ops 1, Scump had the best mentors possible, and his gun skill alone was more than enough to instantly make him a superstar. He joined OpTic in Modern Warfare 3 and hasn’t looked back since, putting on MVP-worthy performances event after event. A dry spell for wins was a struggle in the Black Ops 2 and Ghosts seasons, although the time was well spent building up his personal brand, and earning an X Games gold medal to boot. By the time the all-star lineup had been assembled for Advanced Warfare, Scump was ready to headline the greatest dynasty in CoD esports history, entering almost every event as the favorites, and making good on that expectation a majority of the time. Of course, there have been chokes, failures, and less-than-stellar events along the way (the WWII season in its entirety, for example), and these are always amplified for Scump given his profile, but there is no argument that he’s not the best SMG player to ever do it. 2. Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow 24 wins, 3 rings, $762,220 won After JKap was eliminated at the 2019 CWL Championship in 8th, it was set in stone – Karma would be the only player to boast three world championship rings on his fingers. It’s a record for which many fans call him the GOAT, and although I may disagree on this list, it’s not an unreasonable opinion. When Karma first rose to notoriety in Black Ops 2 on Fariko Impact, he was a very different player than the one we know today. Karma wasn’t unlike the young stars coming up now, like Simp, Dashy or Envoy. He was the star of the show, topping the leaderboard in kills, raining down streaks and making it look easy too (who can forget his 28 kill streak against Enigma on Yemen). Now, Karma is known for being a safe pair of hands rather than a flurry of killstreaks; a reliable force, who’s always there in the big moments when his superstar teammates need him most. Scump and FormaL may have stolen the limelight for kills and flashy plays during the dynasty’s run, but without Karma, often going unnoticed with a quiet 0.9 K/D, the team would never have seen anywhere near the level of success it achieved. In the dark moments, where it looked like a map might slip away, Karma would be there with a game-changing three-piece, a tense 1v1 win, or an impossible objective play, right when it was needed most. Scump and FormaL have both said that if Karma hadn’t won the 1v1 in game 5, round 11, vs FA5TBALLA of Pnda Gaming at CWL Atlanta 2017, the OpTic roster would have split after the event, and would never have gone on to win the 2017 Champs. Crimsix too said that they were “nothing” without him, after Karma returned to helped OpTic win the 2018 Las Vegas Open, following the turbulent WWII season that saw him dropped from the lineup. If you ever need an example of why there is more to CoD than stats and high K/D ratios, then look no further than the undisputed three-time world champion, Karma. 1. Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter 32 LAN wins, 2 rings, $735,045 won Finally, over the past decade of CoD esports, from Call of Duty 4 to Black Ops 4, the greatest player of all time, is Crimsix. Although some will argue that Karma’s extra ring gives him the edge, it is, in my opinion, beaten by Crimsix’s superior tournament record. After a whopping 66 LAN events attended, Crimsix has won 32 (48%). In fact, out of those 66 events, he has placed top four or better in 49 of them. Crim himself counts his total wins at 33, including the online Frag Cup in 2012, considered a major at the time. His tournament record alone would likely earn him this number one spot, but even without it, Crimsix’s consistency of individual performances after eight years of competing is also second-to-none. It’s very rare that the ‘Crimbot’ has a poor event (that’s not to say they don’t happen – the WWII and Black Ops 4 seasons have both served up numerous examples), but no matter the game, jetpacks, boots-on-the-ground, fast-paced or slow, Crimsix always manages to adapt and be capable of completely taking over a map single-handedly. Scump may be the captain of OpTic, but Crimsix has been the de facto in-game leader for much of the core roster’s time together, always pushing for every bit of effort, dedication and focus from his teammates. He was just as much of a fragger as Karma and ACHES were during the CoL/EG dynasty, and, like Karma, was part of both this and the OpTic dynasty. His top fragging days are not even behind him yet either. Although he has been relied on less as a ‘slayer’ in recent years, he is often there to pick up the slack when his teammates are having an off game, and will occasionally drop the odd 40 kill game, when he feels like it. He also still holds the record for most kills in a Search and Destroy match at a tournament with 20 – tied with Dashy. All-in-all, Crimsix’s record is untouched by any of his fellow competitors, and he will enter the franchised era at the very top of the pile after a decade of competitive CoD, and rightfully so. Top 10 best Call of Duty maps of all time – Dexerto
Top 10 best Call of Duty maps of all time DexertoIf the new Modern Warfare is to be one of the best Call of Duty games in the series’ history it will need some great maps. It has a lot to live up to, as Activision’s FPS franchise has featured some amazing maps down the years – here are the 10 best. There are 100s of maps to choose from across Call of Duty’s history, and all multiplayer maps have been considered, regardless of whether they were added via DLC or in the base game. The main criteria for making it into the top 10 is replayability and how well the maps flow based on the games they featured in. A number of these maps have featured in more than one CoD game, so we’ve listed the version we’ve chosen in each case. 10. Shipment – Modern Warfare (2007) We start off our list with Shipment from 2007’s Modern Warfare. Chaos personified, Shipment represented CoD’s first attempt at a tiny, arena-like multiplayer map. With its minute grid structure, Shipment was often complete anarchy. It was equally easy to go on a five death-streak or a 15 kill-streak, but the rapid pace of matches meant that there was never a dull moment and players were always in the action. Shipment has been reincarnated in subsequent CoD games, including Modern Warfare Remastered (obviously) and, most recently, Call of Duty: WWII. 9. Fringe – Black Ops 3 (2015) Black Ops 3 was undoubtedly the best of the advanced movement games, bringing a refinement to Advanced Warfare’s hectic movement system. It also saw the maps undergo significant changes, as wall-runs and verticality became factors to consider. One map that complemented the movement of Black Ops 3 perfectly was Fringe. The map had an excellent flow, offering the perfect mix of short-to-mid-range gunfights, as well as the long sniping lane down the middle of the map. Featuring in every single pro game mode during Treyarch’s 2015 title – CTF, Hardpoint, S&D, and Uplink – Fringe represents the absolute best Black Ops 3 had to offer. 8. Crash – Modern Warfare (2007) Crash was a small-to-medium-sized map, which brought a rapid, but consistent playing experience to Modern Warfare. The game that launched CoD into the mainstream, Crash played a significant role in giving the series its trademark casual, fast-paced brand of FPS action. There was also infinite fun to be had in the tall building along the far side of the map, where Search and Destroy saw countless games end in an incredibly tense scenario, as players scoured the many staircases to find opponents. 7. Nuketown – Black Ops (2010) Arguably the most well-known map in the history of Call of Duty, there is not an FPS fan anywhere who won’t recognize its mid-map, or the houses that overlook the town center and gardens. Frenetic in all the right ways, Nuketown has been reincarnated in every Treyarch game to date. Black Ops 3’s version incorporated wall-runs, while Black Ops 4 provided a snowy, Siberian feel to the signature setting. Regardless of its many revivals, Nuketown has never been better than in its original form in 2010’s Black Ops. 6. Highrise – Modern Warfare 2 (2009) Number 6 on our list goes to Highrise from Modern Warfare 2. A trick-shotter’s paradise, it’s hard to picture a game on Highrise without it being dominated by Interventions – or trick-shotters utilizing the cranes to try and line up a perfect shot. Read More: Maven addresses MerK coaching rumors – Long-term CoD players will only have fond memories of the two office buildings at either end of the map, and the elevated helipad that provided a more central power position. It also had an excellent flow, as players used the nearly-constructed lanes and building works to ambush enemies in a fast-paced, enjoyable environment. 5. Standoff – Black Ops 2 (2012) Standoff was a small-to-medium-sized map, set in a border town between China and Kyrgyzstan. Another of Treyarch’s three-lane maps, Standoff flowed excellently, with a perfect mixture of close-range and long-range gunfights on offer. Whether sniping across the mid-street, or close combat engagements in one of the map’s few houses, Standoff provided countless matches characterized by fast-paced gameplay and long killstreaks. Every Black Ops 2 player will have a memory of calling in a Swarm on Standoff – or having one called in against them. 4. Firing Range – Black Ops Firing Range is one of CoD’s most famous maps, and another that utilizes a small-to medium-sized setting. Based in a deserted military training area in Cuba, it has been reincarnated numerous times in subsequent Treyarch games. Revived in Black Ops 2 as a DLC map named Studio, it featured as a base map in 2018’s Black Ops 4, operating under the same name. Another mixture of long and close-range gunfights, Firing Range is one of the best maps CoD has ever had to offer. Similar to Nuketown, Firing Range has never been better than in its original form, in 2010’s Black Ops. It seems hard to believe it’s been nearly 10 years since players were calling in Blackbirds above this Cuban military arena. 3. Terminal – Modern Warfare 2 There’s not an FPS fan anywhere in the world who won’t recognize our bronze medalist. Terminal is one of the larger maps on our list, but the flow was retained, whether in the airport terminal itself or one of the empty 747s. Another of the maps that’s impossible to picture without an Intervention in hand, it provided countless opportunities for trick shots. Every MW2 player will have their own unique memories of this classic given the versatility in environment offered by Infinity Ward’s imaginative design. It has since been brought back in Modern Warfare 3 and Infinite Warfare – the latter of which was set on the moon. An undeniable classic, and the final time an Infinity Ward map will feature on our list. 2. Hijacked – Black Ops 2 Hijacked is one of the smallest maps on this list, but still retained a consistent pace. It utilized two multi-storey buildings on either side of the deck, with a number of vantage points available to kill enemies. It also had the underground lane, passing through the ship’s engine room, in a hardpoint rotation that regularly proved organized chaos. The versatility of this map is one of its inherent strengths, providing equal opportunity for players running a PDW or a DSR. It has been recreated a few times, as ‘Skyjacked’, in Black Ops 3’s first DLC, and as a POI in Black Ops 4’s Blackout battle royale. 1. Raid – Black Ops 2 Our gold medallist, the best Call of Duty map of all time, is Raid from Black Ops 2. This small-to-medium-sized map is set in a Hollywood mansion, and makes use of all the cliched features a millionaire’s Californian home would possess, from the swimming pool and basketball court, to the garage housing a number of supercars. Read More: Scump confirms OpTic Gaming exit – The spawn snipe is also famous, with many Black Ops 2 fans being able to picture Nadeshot’s famous two-piece across mid-map. There are countless famous gameplays on this map, including Scump’s original ‘sweat banning’, in which he went an incredible 88-0. Raid is a map conducive to killstreaks, rewarding players for their ability to manipulate spawns and stay alive. Another versatile map, Raid could be equally rewarding to ARs, SMGs or Snipers. The less said about Target Finder LMGs the better. It has been brought back as a POI in Blackout, as well as getting a Greek remaster for its feature in Black Ops 3. An absolute testament to what Treyarch are capable of, it raises the question of why Black Ops 4 struggled to come up with original maps that could match the standard they had previously set. Raid is the best Call of Duty map of all time – and it wasn’t a particularly difficult decision. Honorable Mentions These are all iconic maps that were generally well-liked, but didn’t do quite enough to make our top 10. Dome and Castle We kick this off with a couple of maps from World at War: Dome and Castle. Dome made use of the smallest environment on WaW, providing countless MP40 encounters. Castle, on the other hand, was much larger but retained a consistent flow for all play styles. Slums and Grind Next in our list of honorable mentions are a couple more Black Ops 2 maps, probably the best CoD of all time when it comes to multiplayer maps. Both Slums and Grind were brought back for Black Ops 4. Slums was in Black Ops 2 from the start, while Grind was added as DLC. The unique skate park setting was wholly original and a credit to the support Black Ops 2 received. Combine Our next couple of honorable mentions are both Treyarch maps, one from Black Ops 3 and one from the original Black Ops. Black Ops 3 players will universally remember how many times Combine was picked before the ‘2 in a row’ map select limit was added. Its small bio-farm setting provided one of Black Ops 3’s best maps. Summit Summit from Black Ops is also instantly recognizable – the small snowy environment was brought back in Black Ops 4, and was one of the best maps, thanks mainly to its chaotic middle hall, in which countless angles and windows lead to anarchic but enjoyable gameplay. Favela We round off our honorable mentions with a few more Infinity Ward maps. Favela from Modern Warfare 2 provided a unique setting on top of roofs in Brazil, with messy fun being the main takeaway from this creative, colorful environment. Rust Modern Warfare 2’s Rust could sometimes be too open and messy in a 6v6 environment, but its notoriety for 1v1s and settling scores means it’s well worth a place in our honorable mentions. Vacant Vacant from Modern Warfare (2007) also shone as one of the game’s best maps. Set in an abandoned Russian office, the desolate corridors were linear but provided an enjoyable experience for players to earn Modern Warfare’s three killstreaks. What do you make of our picks? Top 10 best Call of Duty players of all time – Dexerto
Top 10 best Call of Duty players of all time Call of Duty LeagueCall of Duty is a first-person shooter franchise that has dominated the space for decades, with a rich history of millions of players — but only very few reach the top of the mountain in the Call of Duty League. With multiple world championships and millions of dollars in prize money won, here are our top 10 best Call of Duty players of all time. Ranking players isn’t an easy task: you have to weigh up the total number of events they’ve won, how many world championship rings they earned, their raw talent in-game, and the intangible abilities that helped get them to the top. There are a number of honorable mentions that don’t quite make the cut for us: the likes of Jordan ‘JKap’ Kaplan, Bryan ‘Apathy’ Zhelyazkov, and Sam ‘Octane’ Larew are all worthy of a mention as being among the greats, and just missed out on the top 10. Our final list, though, is as follows: 10. Austin ‘SlasheR’ Liddicoat SlasheR just beats his former Envy teammates Apathy and JKap to the 10th spot on our list. Despite having one less world championship ring than both players, SlasheR has almost always been looked at as an S-tier assault rifle player as well as a ruthless but efficient leader. While SlasheR hasn’t seen the success he expects of himself and his teammates in recent years (even his 2022 Major 2 victory seems a lifetime ago), there’s no doubting that SlasheR has been an all-time great in Call of Duty as a three-time Champs finalist and one-time champion. 9. Patrick ‘Aches’ Price Aches has been the villain of the CoD scene for as long as he’s been in it, always king of the trash talk, but he’s got the silverware to back it up, too. Known as the OpTic killer when it comes to Champs time, Aches is a two-time world champion and helped lead the first great dynasty of Call of Duty, his Black Ops 2/Ghost Complexity team, to superstardom. 8. Tyler ‘aBeZy’ Pharris aBeZy is the first of the new generation of players on this list, but he’s not the last. Alongside Tiny Terrors duo Chris ‘Simp’ Lehr, aBeZy has dominated the competition ever since arriving on the scene in Black Ops 4 and is commonly regarded as the best entry SMG in the game. Despite his lack of years playing at the top, aBeZy is a two-time world champion and got to two more world championship finals, making him no stranger to success. 7. Alec ‘Arcitys’ Sanderson Arcitys has quickly rose through the Call of Duty earnings rankings to challenge Crimsix for the top spot despite not having as much time competing at the pro level. After breaking out in the CWL days on United with his brother Prestinni, he went on to help turn the 2020 Atlanta FaZe team into multiple-time champions and world champions in 2021, with his combination of leadership skills and incredible AR talent making for a terrifying combination to come up against. 6. Matthew ‘FormaL’ Piper A shining star of the OpTic dynasty and often considered one of the greatest AR players of all time, FormaL moved from Halo to Call of Duty during the Ghost season and was instantly recognized as an insane talent. He went on to be a key component in perhaps the best CoD roster of all time, including finishing his 2017 Champs MVP run with a 1.44 KD, one of the most dominant performances ever seen in Call of Duty. 5. Chris ‘Simp’ Lehr After much hype as an amateur player online, Simp first joined the pro ranks halfway through the Black Ops 4 season after finally turning 18, and was immediately the best player in the game. He won two championships that year, including a world championship, and has followed it up with three straight seasons of being the gold standard with consecutive world championship finals and an extra ring to his name. Unless something goes seriously wrong, Simp, alongside his Atlanta FaZe teammates, will go down as the greatest to ever touch the game. His talent is second to none, and now he just needs to keep collecting the silverware that he’s already become so familiar with. 4. Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow The first player to ever win three world championships, Karma’s career was one that can be matched by very few. Even now, two years after his retirement, there are always murmurings that players and teams would love to bring the Canadian star into their team. Karma was the world’s greatest in his run on Fariko Impact and Complexity, winning the 2013 and 2014 world championships, before spearheading the dominant OpTic dynasty and winning it again in 2017. He won 24 total chips in his career, and was widely considered the GOAT before his career slowed at the start of the CDL. 3. James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks Clayster, another three-time world champion and a name that has become as synonymous with Call of Duty esports as any other. His accolades are even more impressive when you consider the fact that he went on a 1,400-day championship drought between Advanced Warfare and Black Ops 4, with the later years of his career proving to be his most successful. While Clay didn’t play the second half of the 2022 season, he hasn’t hung the sticks up yet, and any team looking for an AR player will have him high on their list of priorities going into Modern Warfare 2. 2. Seth ‘Scump’ Abner Scump may not have the world championship rings that those around him on this list do — his sole win came in 2017 — but Scump is more than deserving of a spot right near the top. He’s won 30 championships in his career and proudly boasts that he is the oldest SMG player in the league, still looking mighty impressive while doing it. He’s always been one of the most talented players to touch the game, and that’s not changed in well over a career. Being the Warzone Solo YOLO $100k champion doesn’t exactly hurt his resumé, either. 1. Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter One thing the community can almost unanimously agree on is that Crimsix is the GOAT. While he might not have the raw talent that the likes of Scump and Simp still do, he’s certainly no slouch on the sticks and none can question his winning mentality. With 37 chips to his name, including three world championships, any team Crim is on is instantly looked at as a potential winner, and that doesn’t look likely to change any time soon. Obviously, all of these are completely subjective. Someone who values world championships more may put Karma and Clayster above Scump, while others might argue to have Simp even higher based purely on how incredibly talented he is. That said, these players are truly the cream of the crop, and it will be hard for anyone to knock those players off the top without a seriously dominant run — but the 2023 Modern Warfare 2 season could certainly see some movement, especially towards the bottom of the list.

They were down in kills, wins, and therefore overall points. Yet they managed to close out one of the most intense games they’ll ever play. A win was needed, as were a few dozen kills. That’s exactly what they got done in the final round to eek out a minuscule lead over second-place and take out the win. Similar can be said for teams further down the line as it was just single-digit kills that separated second and third place in the final standings. Check out the final placements for the top eight teams below. Tommey’s amazing gesture helps amateur player attend CWL Las Vegas – Dexerto
Tommey’s amazing gesture helps amateur player attend CWL Las Vegas After missing his flight an amateur Call of Duty gamer took to Twitter pleading for money to get him to CWL Las Vegas before the start of the tournament. Luckily for him, Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren answered the call. Amateur player Callan Adamson – who goes by the name of ‘Hayz’ – has jetted off to Vegas courtesy of the Team Reciprocity player, following an exchange on social media. Hayz had missed his initial flight to the ‘Entertainment Capital of the World’ because he stayed behind with his friend, who needed to go to hospital. Adamson revealed that he couldn’t have gone to the event without his duo ‘Seannyy’ alongside him. He posted on Twitter: “Need 370 quid for a flight tomorrow, it’s unlikely but if anyone can sort me out I’ll pay you back after new year weekly for it”. Little did he know, Tommey – who placed second at the CWL Birmingham Open in 2018 with Splyce- would reach out and offer him support. Hayz has since tweeted on a number of occasions, thanking Tommey for his kind gesture and has also updated people on his journey to Vegas. The tournament will be based in the Hard Rock Hotel and will kick off on December 7, where it will run for two days. There will be three main locations for the event, which are Artist Hall, The Joint and Muse Hall. Teams involved in the tournament will go head-to-head on Call of Duty game modes Hardpoint, Search and Destroy, as well as Control – which is a brand new game mode in Black Ops 4. Tommey will be competing with the rest of Team Reciprosity and if you would like to follow their progress directly, they are in Pool A for the tournament.

Tommey Reveals More Information About His Position on the Splyce Call of Duty Roster – Dexerto
Tommey Reveals More Information About His Position on the Splyce Call of Duty Roster After announcing his release from Splyce as a restricted free agent, Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren has revealed more information about his future. The Call of Duty veteran joined Splyce, alongside Dylan ‘Madcat’ Daly, Ben ‘Bance’ Bance and Jordan ‘Jurd’ Crowley, at the beginning of the 2018 season as the series returned to boots on the ground gameplay. Despite some good results at CWL Dallas and CWL Birmingham, all has not been right with the squad, who finished their most recent tournament, CWL Seattle, with a disappointing top 20 placing. Following this result, Tommey announced he was a free agent, before later saying he would likely retire for the rest of the season if he didn’t get any offers. Although a replacement has yet to be announced, it looks like Tommey is embracing streaming for the time being, as he took to Twitter to say he’s now an unemployed gamer and would appreciate any help towards becoming a full-time streamer. I’m an unemployed gamer now, all support towards becoming a full-time streamer is appreciated. Currently at 505 subscribers. The goal for the end of the stream is 1,000, let’s get it!https://t.co/L6i4VeJHkQ — Tommey (@Tommey) 30 April 2018 When asked by host and commentator Alan ‘Bricetacular’ Brice if that meant he definitely wouldn’t be playing for Splyce during Stage 2 of the CWL Pro League, Tommey confirmed he had been benched/dropped and wouldn’t play with the team even if their replacement plans didn’t go through, as the team just hadn’t been working together before and wouldn’t in future either. If what they have planned falls through, I’d stay on the bench regardless. If it didn’t work before, it would be even worse after this. — Tommey (@Tommey) April 30, 2018 Despite his disappointing position, it looks like the Call of Duty veteran is making the most of a bad situation and focusing on streaming. However, it’s not all said and done yet, as the roster lock doesn’t come into force until May 7th, meaning there’s still time for Tommey to find a new home on another European roster.

Tommey overtakes Aydan as Warzone’s top-earning pro amid undefeated Caldera run – Dexerto
Tommey overtakes Aydan as Warzone’s top-earning pro amid undefeated Caldera run Activision / SublinersCompetitive CoD veteran Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren is now the highest-earning Warzone player after taking the mantle from Aydan Conrad amidst a string of high-stakes tournament wins in Caldera. Warzone has a new top dog. After months of reigning supreme as the CoD Battle Royale’s number one star, Aydan is now back down to second place with Tommey taking over. With $340,257.61 to his name – just over $6,000 more than Aydan – the British pro has now claimed more prize money from Warzone events than any other player in the world. While this can mostly be attributed to consistent placements over the last 21 months, a recent hot streak in Caldera has boosted Tommey up the standings with no signs of the momentum stopping anytime soon. Despite being the first to clear the $300,000 mark just last month, Aydan now sits in second place among Warzone’s highest earners. This comes as a result of Tommey’s flawless stint in Caldera since the new map dropped on December 8. When it comes to custom lobby events, Tommey and his TBE crew of Newbz & Almond are undefeated in the Pacific-era of Warzone. It kicked off with a $25,000 UFC Invitational win on December 10. This was followed up by a staggering $100,000 FaZe Pacific Pursuit victory just five days later. Then finally, a huge $100K Baka Bros WonderLAN win to finally push his name to the top of the standings. These three major events, all in the span of just two weeks, now see Tommey leading the pack. While his lead is only a few thousand dollars ahead of Aydan in second place, the gap ahead of everyone else is getting wider by the day. The $100K Warzone #BakaWonderLAN champs: Congratulations to the duo on winning Warzone’s first major LAN 👏 pic.twitter.com/33XQLfNuT9 — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) December 18, 2021 Just over $45,000 separates Tommey from HusKerrs in third place. As a result, if he keeps this form in Caldera, it could be a while before we see another lead change. We’re now closing in on $9m in total prizing since Warzone tourneys kicked off. With new events popping up almost every week, we’re sure to see this figure continue climbing throughout 2022. We’ll just have to keep tuning in to see if Tommey can stay on top all the while.

Tommey, MuTeX & more call for weapon bans in $1.2m World Series of Warzone – Dexerto
Tommey, MuTeX & more call for weapon bans in $1.2m World Series of Warzone Activision/MuTeXThe World Series of Warzone is set to be the biggest tournament Verdansk has ever seen, but with the launch of Season 4 happening just days before, several pros are calling for weapon and equipment bans to improve the quality of matches. The launch of Season 4 saw new locations, Red Doors, and a series of weapon balancing changes come to Warzone. The biggest change, however, is something that many players will already be experiencing the frustration of, with the addition of the MG 82 LMG. The gun packs a serious punch, especially when built with the right loadout, but it’s way too overpowered in the eyes of most and, barring a nerf arriving before the tournament kicks off, many pros want it banned for the big tournament. So, alongside the MG 82, many top Warzone pros are calling for certain bans in the World Series of Warzone, including perks and equipment. On June 19-20, the Baka Bros hosted their own custom Warzone tournament designed to emulate the WSOW format, but they also banned certain weapons and items to make a more level playing field. These include the MG 82, the Restock perk, custom Shotguns, and all launchers. And, from what it seems like, the pros were a huge fan of these restrictions being in place. MuTeX shared the restrictions, saying that it would be “dope for WSOW” to have them in place. Veteran Call of Duty legend Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren — one of the favorites for the tournament — even thought to bring some CDL-style Gentlemen’s Agreements to the WSOW, asking fellow pros to come together to not use the MG 82. LuckyChamu responded in agreement, but added that the “only thing that would suck is the ground loot MG is still crazy.” Baka Bros rules 🤨? Only thing that would suck is the ground loot MG is still CRAZY — Lucky Chamu (@LuckyChamu) June 22, 2021 There’s clearly some desire from top names to have certain weapons or items removed from the loot pool in the World Series of Warzone. Whether Activision actually removes these items, though, remains to be seen. Make sure to check our dedicated WSOW hub for any major updates and to keep track of everything occurring in Warzone’s biggest event to date.

Tommey mocks another bizarre Warzone cheating accusation – Dexerto
Tommey mocks another bizarre Warzone cheating accusation FNATIC / ActivisionThomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren, ex-professional Call of Duty player and and one of the top Warzone competitors for 100 Thieves, isn’t new to being accused of cheating by viewers. He has responded to yet more accusations, joking that he’s finally been caught. A broadly successful career in professional Call of Duty coming to a close meant that transitioning to full-time Warzone was the perfect move for Tommey. He has since joined Nadeshot’s 100 Thieves and, despite problems with some of the org’s other competitors, has found a new home in Verdansk and as one of the world’s top competitors in CoD’s BR. However, given his natural aptitude for all things Call of Duty, and Warzone’s major problems with cheaters, he has found himself on the end of cheating accusations. Due to the dire cheating situation in Warzone generally, viewers are constantly suspicious of the top level players, even though they have proved their skills over time. On July 17, a Twitter user was convinced they had caught Tommey cheating, after a sniper shot that appeared slightly off target still connected with the enemy. “His aim was nowhere near the person head and he hit a collateral through the wall?” they said, “I made sure I checked to see if the first person was down and he was.” The user also tagged YouTuber BadBoyBeaman – who’s channel revolves around making accusations against pro players and streamers with little evidence other than a few clips of good aim. Tommey, replying to the tweet, joked: “Alright, you got me.” Plenty of Tommey’s fans mocked the accusations, pointing out that Tommey played professional Call of Duty in an environment where cheating is nigh on impossible. The gap between the bullet and target was likely caused by internet issues and/or hit box inconsistencies, rather than any cheating on the part of Tommey. That’s not to say that there aren’t plenty of Warzone content creators caught cheating – like this Twitch streamer using ‘soft aimbot’. But, when it comes to these big names, many of whom have been high-level players before Warzone even existed, it’s more often baseless than not. Hopefully Activision will take action to limit cheating and improving Warzone’s security, in turn reducing the unsubstantiated accusations from flying around the community.

Tommey accuses Warzone streamer of stream sniping after TikTok callout – Dexerto
Tommey accuses Warzone streamer of stream sniping after TikTok callout Twitter: Tommey/ActivisionWarzone star Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren put a Call of Duty streamer on blast after they apparently stream sniped him and teammates while streaming themselves, and put it on TikTok. For the longest time, content creators have been dealing with trolls, stream snipers, and cheaters whose main aim is to disrupt a game and try to get their moment in the spotlight. The majority of stream snipers and cheats don’t actually incriminate themselves by streaming at the same time and can get away with their own mini highlight. After one streamer took on 100 Thieves’ Tommey and took him down, he posted the kill on TikTok. However, the former Call of Duty pro fired back to show that he’d been getting stream sniper by the player in question. The drama kicked off on May 23 when Thurmzy, a Warzone streamer himself, managed to kill the 100 Thieves star and tagged him on Twitter after the fact as he celebrated. Ultimately, his clip where he took down Tommey was headed for TikTok and after seeing it, Tommey dished out some clips that showed how the streamer was stream sniping him in games. The two squads came to blows on a few occasions, and after which, members of Thurmzy’s team were calling out what Tommey had been saying on stream – indicating that they were watching. However, the streamer denied that anyone was doing so, even though his teammates were calling out where Tommey was. Here’s a thread of “Thurmzy” and his boys listening to our stream calling out our locations and also commenting on what our chat talks about, all while “Thurmzy” is contradicting all of it. Part one: https://t.co/g25dp7IKUr — Tommey (@Tommey) May 24, 2021 “As you can see in these clips, we killed his team four different times and by his team I mean three of them while the other was nowhere to be seen hitting nothing but buy backs,” Tommey said after bringing his clips proof to an end. The pair traded further shots on Twiter, with Thurmzy denying that anyone had been stream sniping after Tommey said the situation was “baffling” and urged him to “be better.” https://twitter.com/Tommey/status/1396641094809624576 The streamer in question has further denied stream sniping Tommey and his squad. It’s the not first time that the 100 Thieves star has called out an apparent stream sniper on Twitter, however. In fact, it was barely a week ago that he was hunted down by one in a Warzone tournament.

Tommey explains how Clayster got him on Dallas Empire – Dexerto
Tommey explains how Clayster got him on Dallas Empire Professional Call of Duty player Thomas ‘Call of Duty history, consistently placing near the top, building strong rosters and competing well against the North Americans. Despite this, Tommey found himself struggling to get on a team for the inaugural season of the city-based franchised league, with just one potential offer until James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks reached out a helping hand. During a Twitch stream after the announcement, Tommey said that he initially had an offer on a starting roster which later fell through and turned into something different, but responses to a tweet from Clay completely turned his situation around. “Clay tweeted asking who’s still a free agent and wants to be a sub for Dallas, and a s***load of people started tagging me,” he said. “He DM’ed me saying ‘there’s no way, you’re our sub’ basically. And it pretty much went from there.” Tommey then went on to explain what this means for his next season, and what followed his initial DM’s with the only other player to attend every million-dollar event. “What they want from a sub is different from most others, but I said I’m definitely down for this one. A couple of days go by and Hastr0 (Mike Rufail, Envy, Dallas Fuel and Dallas Empire CEO) gives me a call, Clay and that say they’d like me as a substitute, and I signed the next day.” Tommey later confirmed that he currently still lives in Houston but he’s open to moving to Dallas if it’s required of him and the team. The full Dallas Empire roster so far is: Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter – James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks – Cuyler ‘Huke’ Garland – Anthony ‘Shotzzy’ Cuevas-Castro – Indervir ‘iLLeY’ Dhaliwal – Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren (Substitute) – The Dallas starting roster has already won a bunch of online tournaments since the release of Modern Warfare, so prospects are looking good for the Texas-based team heading in to season one of the CDL.

Tommey claims EM2 loadout is the best class in Warzone after Krig & Stoner nerfs – Dexerto
Tommey claims EM2 loadout is the best class in Warzone after Krig & Stoner nerfs Activision/100 Thieves100 Thieves Warzone star Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren is one of the most formidable players in Verdansk, but with nerfs to the Krig 6 and Stoner 63, he thinks this EM2 loadout could be the new go-to. While both weapons still remain pretty popular, often the go-to choices for long-range gunfights, they have dropped off slightly as players refamiliarize themselves with previous meta weapons such as the FARA 83 or the Grau. This has given players the opportunity to test out some different assault rifles that they might not have used previously, including the EM2 which arrived at the start of Season 5. The EM2 has been a ground loot weapon throughout the majority of the season, but not many players have experimented with it in the gunsmith — but that could be about to change. Tommey’s EM2 Warzone class Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Barrel: 25.8” Task Force – Optic: Axial Arms 3x – Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip – Magazine: 40 Rnd – Tommey’s EM2 is built how most assault rifle and large machine gun builds look in Warzone. The Agency Suppressor and Task Force barrel make a lethal combination, maximizing bullet velocity and recoil control while also keeping your gunfire off of the minimap. The Axial Arms optic and Field Agent Grip are also common picks, allowing you to have complete control of the weapon over long distances, making those ranged gunfights as easy as possible. Finally, the 40 Rnd magazine should provide enough ammunition to down multiple enemies, though it might be a bit harder to keep on top of in quads and even trios, especially if you don’t hit all your shots. Whether the EM2 becomes a more meta pick over the course of time remains to be seen, but Tommey proves it can seriously pack a punch and, with a trusty OTs 9 SMG in your back pocket, you’ll be pretty well-equipped to take on your enemies. With a lot of hype around the new Call of Duty: Vanguard, which is set to release on November 5, there’s a couple of months of Cold War dominance left in Verdansk before we get a whole new map and Warzone experience. Until then, you might want to give the EM2 a go and see how it works for you.

Tommey catches Warzone player cheating on stream after they deny it – Dexerto
Tommey catches Warzone player cheating on stream after they deny it Infinity Ward / FnaticCall of Duty pro and streamer Tom ‘Tommey’ Trewen has exposed a Warzone player for cheating live on his Twitch stream, after facing off against them in a 2v2 tournament. While it was recently revealed that Activision has now started targeting websites that sell Call of Duty cheats, some players are still managing to slip through the cracks with in-game hacks. One Warzone player, in particular, had even been streaming regularly and competing in online tournaments before he was challenged by European Call of Duty pro, Tommey in one of his recent broadcasts. During a 2v2 Warzone CMG tournament hosted by KaleiRenay, on September 5, Tommey and his teammate Almxnd came up against a player in the quarter-finals who viewers suspected of cheating. While waiting for the quarter-final matchup, they had also become suspicious of the player called “Mingostyle”, who boasted a 5.2 k/d in-game. After watching his gameplay, Tommey called for him to show his screen during their games. Update, September 8: Mingostyle’s Twitch channel is no longer available on the platform, presumably banned for his use of cheats. Twitch’s policy does not permit use of hacks or cheats to be used in games being played on stream. Mingostyle did as requested, using his webcam to capture what could be hidden on stream, however, shortly before the match started, a gray tab with the same layout as a popular cheat menu appeared on the screen. Tommey’s viewers quickly made the pro aware of the incident, causing him to back out and confront the player about his cheats on stream. Mingostyle denied that it was a cheat menu, claiming that he purposefully put up a picture of cheats to trick the viewers, “I’m messing around, get a grip. I literally just got a picture.” Tommey later reviewed the clip on his stream, pointing out flaws with the player’s argument and claiming that the supposed picture didn’t match up with the menu that appeared ahead of their match. “He’s not the smartest bloke, I told you cheaters are stupid as s***,” Tommey explained, “he said that image is that, he hasn’t even got the same dimensions, he’s panicked and gone quick.” Despite Mingostyle’s claims that he was innocent, the tournament organizer CMG handed the player a permanent suspension from their website, moving their last opponents into the quarter-finals in their place. He’s also been banned from Twitch, and will presumably also face an in-game ban, once the developers are notified. Tommey did not seem to let the cheating incident affect him too much, as he and Almxnd later went on an impressive run to win the entire Warzone 2v2 tournament.

Tommey begs for Warzone stream-sniper fix after being hunted in Nadeshot’s $100k event – Dexerto
Tommey begs for Warzone stream-sniper fix after being hunted in Nadeshot’s $100k event Instagram: tommeyjt / Activision100 Thieves’ very own Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren was playing in Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag’s $100K Invitational when stream-snipers spoiled the competition. Far from the first time this has happened, the Warzone star took to social media to plead for a permanent fix. For the biggest Warzone personalities, there’s nothing quite as frustrating as the lack of a proper streamer mode. Without masking their identities in-game, enemies are able to watch their broadcast and hunt them down for easy kills. It’s been a prevalent issue since Warzone shot to the top of the battle royale genre last year and — unfortunately — it doesn’t appear to be getting any better at the moment either. Players are constantly exposing stream snipers in their lobbies, though some are more terrifying than others. Despite asking for a fix back in March, and even getting a response last week, Tommey is still encountering these pesky players on a near-daily basis. It just so happened the latest incident came during Nadeshot’s massive $100K tourney. “Hi Raven Software, just really want to know if you plan on changing streamer mode,” he asked in a May 18 tweet. An accompanying video showed the perspective of someone Tommey wiped out part-way through the competition. Immediately after being downed, the streamer noticed who they’d been killed by. “No way, that’s Tommey,” they screamed while also broadcasting live for the world to see. “He’s in 100 Thieves. F***ing pussy, I hate that f***ing guy.” Moments later, he realized he could track Tommey down for some swift revenge: “He’s streaming? He’s in a tournament… I’m stream-sniping this pussy.” Hi @RavenSoftware, You guys have been incredible the last few months with fixing things and interacting with the community, I just really want to know if you plan on changing the streamer mode? People suck and do this shit daily. Thanks, Tom pic.twitter.com/ZnLwB9HDrc— Tommey (@Tommey) May 19, 2021 All the player had to do was pull up Tommey’s Twitch stream to instantly know his whereabouts in Verdansk. Upon winning his Gulag, he could drop back in and make it his sole focus to try and kill Tommey. While this example caught fire online, Tommey assured it was one of many. “Sad part is, this happened multiple times today, as it does to near all streamers.” Obviously, this creates an extremely unfair dynamic, one which ultimately saw Tommey bowing out of the $100K tournament in 13th place. The moment was swept up in a storm on Twitter, with Tommey’s original post netting more than 4.7k likes, and more than 300 comments from CouRage, JGOD, Symfuhny, and plenty more. Perhaps fearing backlash, the stream sniper soon tried to apologize: “I was in the heat of the moment and shouldn’t [have] said what I said.” Read More: All Warzone Season 3 Reloaded map changes – “Not true,” Tommey fired back. “We watched your whole VOD back and you played the entire game for us. I woulda’ loved for you to just apologize and move on. Sh** happens, you live and you learn.” Not true, we watched your whole VOD back and you played the entire game for us. I woulda’ loved for you to just apologise and move on. Shit happens, you live and you learn. — Tommey (@Tommey) May 19, 2021 Countless pro players and popular streamers chimed in to express their displeasure with the state of Warzone. For the time being though, the current streamer mode simply doesn’t cut it for most of the biggest names. Beyond asking Tommey what he’d like to see done, Raven Software has been quiet on the issue. There’s no telling when we might see the issue resolved so competitions can play out with no fear for stream-snipers.

While Warzone remains an unpredictable beast, we’re sure this tremendous feat won’t be forgotten anytime soon.

Tommey and NAMELESS Explain How They Have Ended Up Teamless Amid Rostermania – Dexerto
Tommey and NAMELESS Explain How They Have Ended Up Teamless Amid Rostermania One of the biggest surprises so far arising from the recent roster mayhem in Call of Duty, has been the position which former Splyce player Tommey has found himself in. As one of the star players of the Splyce roster, most fans believed his spot on the team secure, and so were shocked to learn of his release as a restricted free agent. More shocking still, was Tommey’s follow up tweets and announcements, hinting that he may be forced to step away from competiting for the remained of the 2018 CoD: WWII season. Of course, no one could have thought it was down to a lack of skill, as he has shown he comfortably belongs amongst the upper echelon of players, not only in Europe but across all regions. During his recent appearance on the CoD Cast, Tommey went into much more detail than fans are perhaps used to, explaining how it is exactly has ended up in his current situation. When asked by Anthony “NAMELESS” Wheeler why UNILAD had not offered Tommey a spot, Tommey broke down the chronology of events. “An offer was put there for myself to join [UNILAD]. But, what happened was, something else then came up and I was asked if I would consider it, which then I said yes I would. But than then went back to UNILAD as if I had been asking to join this other team. So then I lost my spot on UNILAD, because I said I would consider an offer from another team. So this happened, and then that was it.” NAMELESS, who similarly had been on a Pro League team with Evil Geniuses, explained how a nearly identical series of events had caused him to essentially retire. “Same thing happened to me. […] I got offered a spot by Ghost Gaming, and it was a good offer. And I was waiting on if Envy would offer me a spot right, because they were the team that didn’t have an AR player and they needed one. So I told Ghost, in 24 hours I will hit you guys back, and I am down to join you guys if Envy doesn’t pick me up. 24 hours go by, I hit [Ghost] back up, and they go: ‘Yo, we picked up Parasite man we’re sorry we didn’t want to wait.” So for both Tommey and NAMELESS, despite their skill and ability to play at the top level, it seems that issues around communication and trust are the ultimate causes for their current predicaments. While NAMELESS has said he is committing to casting and analysis, with a look to returning for Black Ops 4, Tommey is less sure of his future plans. He may look to join a CWL National Circuit roster and build up from there, but his chances of Pro League team for Stage Two look finished. You can watch the full episode of the CoD Cast below.

Tommey and Clayster – The Last Two Survivors from CoD XP 2011 – Dexerto
Tommey and Clayster – The Last Two Survivors from CoD XP 2011 Only two players in the world have participated in every $1 million+ Call of Duty tournament from 2011 to 2018 – James “Clayster” Eubanks and Thomas “Tommey” Trewren. In September 2011, Activision hit hard with their first $1 million tournament, something very rare at the time. It was the first CoD XP, the predecessor to what became the Call of Duty World Championship, held every year since 2013. Reserved for major players at the time, some players who were already among the best in the world were unable to participate due to age restrictions, such as Seth “Scump” Abner, or top French player Corentin “Gotaga” Houssein. The competitive aspect of the tournament was also questioned. For example, Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed, two modes typically seen as “casual”, were part of the rotation. More importantly, the tournament was played on Modern Warfare 3, a game that was not yet released and that most competitors were playing for the very first time. The qualifiers had even been held on the original Black Ops game. More: UK Viewing Party for Call of Duty World Championship at the Ricoh Arena Organized by Splyce and Wasps Rugby – Regardless of these issues, the tournament put Call of Duty at the forefront of the global esports scene and laid the foundation for the explosion of Black Ops 2 competition a year later. Since then, the CoD scene has changed a lot. Players who participated in this tournament and who continue to compete today can be counted on one hand, and if you only consider players who took part in this CoD XP 2011 and every Call of Duty Championship since – there are only two left standing. British player Tommey attended the event with his apeX eSports roster (Tommey, Riddlez, Crookz, Blackk). They finished 5th, pocketing a $70,000 cash prize. Already known as one of the best European players, Tommey has never dropped off from the highest level, but has never bettered 5th at a CoD Champs. His best since is top 12, which he reached in both 2014 on Ghosts and 2016 on Black Ops III. He will try once again to better this placement this year, with Team Vitality (Chain, Maple, Tommey, Denza). Clayster took part in the 2011 CoD XP with Team Obey (BreeZy, Clayster, TriZy, ePiSoDe), placing top 6 and netting a $50,000 cash prize. He too has attended every CoD Champs since, and of course won with Denial eSports in 2015, on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. More: Nameless Reveals the Story of His Tough Childhood for the First Time and How Call of Duty Changed his Life – This year with eUnited (Clayster, Arcitys, Prestinni, FeLonY), he will try to replicate 2015, and in doing so would enter a new esteemed group – players who have won two CoD Champs (JKap and Crimsix with two, Karma with three wins). Until this WWII season, another British player, ShAnE, was keeping pace with Clayster and Tommey, but this year he failed to grab a spot at the LCQ to have a chance at qualifying for Champs. For organizations, OpTic Gaming was the only team at the 2011 CoD XP to have participated in every year of the Call of Duty Championship between 2013 and 2018.

CoD Pros Tommey and Chino announce new team for CWL Miami – Dexerto
CoD Pros Tommey and Chino announce new team for CWL Miami Fnatic / g2esports twitterFormer Call of Duty roster and organization leading into CWL Finals in Miami. The CWL Finals in Miami is a massive chance for players to qualify for the Call of Duty World Championship as the Top 16 placing teams will book their place in the final event of the season. In a bid to make it to the Los Angeles tournament, fan favorite CoD pros Tommey and Chino have put together a stacked international open bracket roster which may be one of the favorites to qualify. After the European veteran, Tommey, had announced that he would be taking a step back from competing in the CoD World League under Team Reciprocity, many fans were eager to see him return to action. Tommey had announced on June 29 that he would be coming back to compete at CWL Miami alongside Chino and rising UK star, Linney, before later adding Proto and Exceed to complete the roster. Competing at #CWLMiami with @MJCheen, @Proto626, @ExceedLbX and @ByronLinney_. I’ll still be part of and representing Reciprocity, but will be playing under @Sicario_Gaming_ for the remainder of the game. https://t.co/PDsS1cEHTK — Tommey (@Tommey) July 10, 2019 The international squad announced that they will be competing under Sicario Gaming in what may be the final CWL open bracket event ever, as the CoD league will include location based franchise teams for the Modern Warfare season. Despite competing under Sicario Gaming for the rest of CWL season, Tommey confirmed that he won’t be parting ways with Reciprocity just yet, adding “I’ll still be part of and representing Reciprocity, but will be playing under Sicario. This team to be one to watch in the final events of the year, especially after Tommey had done similar the year prior leading an unlikely Team Vitality squad to a respectable top 12 finish. Chino has had a tough year all round after failing to qualify for the pro league at the start of the season with G2, but he no doubt still has the talent to compete with the best, and will be looking to end the year strong to improve his chances of landing on a franchise team next year. Tommey and AlmxndTV wins $10k TeeP’s Trials #2 Warzone tournament – Dexerto
Tommey and AlmxndTV wins $10k TeeP’s Trials #2 Warzone tournament ActivisionThomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren and Ben ‘AlmxndTV’ took home the gold in the second Teep’s Trials Warzone event, scoring themselves $4,500 and some Doritos swag. As Warzone has exploded in popularity, players have been holding and competing in a raft of different events – where there is money and, perhaps more importantly, some serious bragging rights up for grabs. Former pro player Tyler ‘Teepee’ Polchow, who has exploded in popularity on Twitch thanks to CoD’s battle royale’s, has teamed up with Doritos for the Teep’s Trials events. Here, pros compete against each other in games for prizes, with the added bonus of potentially taking on Teep and Merk in a ‘boss fight’. On July 9, he hosted the second Teep’s Trials tournament, with eight duos doing battle. Though, previous champions Symfunhy and HusKerrs were dethroned. Teep’s Trials #2 Warzone event final placements Former professional player Tommey and his partner AlmxndTV came out on top, taking home the top prize of $4,500 and a tonne of Doritos swag as well. They managed to see off a raft of talented players including three-time CoD World Champion Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow, Fortnite star Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad, Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff and as already mentioned, the previous winning pair of Symfunhy and HusKerrs. Aydan and his partner MuTeX managed to score second-place and the $3,000 runners-up prize, while NICKMERCS and Swagg grabbed third. TimTheTatMan and Frozone rounded out the cash winners by finishing fourth. When it was all said and done, and Tommey and AlmxndTV had bagged their year’s supply of Doritos, Teep wrapped things by thanking everyone for coming out. Though, he did leave the door open to a potential weekly event under his banner with a teasing closing line to his wrap-up tweet. TeeP’s Trials #2 was GREAT. Congrats to @Tommey and @Almxnd_ for taking home 1st place! GGsTournament went smoothly and we had so many close matches. Big shoutout to all the streamers that played today and my co-caster @JoeDeLuca Maybe I should run something weekly……. — TeeP (@TylerTeeP) July 10, 2020 If anything comes to fruition from that remains to be seen, but as for now, these sporadic events continue to draw interest from players and viewers. Though, first off, we’ll have to see if Tommey and AlmxndTV can retain their crown next time out if they’ll fall outside the money just as previous champions Symfunhy and HusKerrs did.

TJHaly says leaving Scump was “worst decision of his career” as roster rumors heat up – Dexerto
TJHaly says leaving Scump was “worst decision of his career” as roster rumors heat up MLGWith the LA Thieves roster situation seemingly up in the air once again after the Stage 4 Major, Thomas ‘TJHaly’ Haly has revealed that the worst decision of his career was parting ways with OpTic Chicago veteran Seth ‘Scump’ Abner. LA Thieves have made the most roster changes of any team in the Call of Duty League this season, unable to find a proper, winning squad that really works. TJHaly himself has been in and out of the squad throughout Stage 3 and 4, but was included on the one that went out in the opening round of the Stage 4 Major. Now, rumors are starting to pick up that LAT are to make another change for Stage 5 and heading into Champs — and it appears to have got Teej in his feelings. Are TJ and Drazah signaling yet another @LAThieves roster shuffle? 🤔 pic.twitter.com/T6eVqkGPH0 — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) June 23, 2021 TJHaly played with Scump in the Black Ops 4 season, with decent success. They won the opening event of the year, CWL Vegas, and often placed highly — including third at Champs that season. Ever since then, TJHaly has been on OpTic Gaming Los Angeles and then LA Thieves, with the franchise slot seemingly cursed and Teej seemingly unable to secure solid placements with the squad. Now, the multiple-time champion has revealed that parting from Scump was the “worst decision of his career.” lmaoo that was deadass the worst decision of my career by a mile leavinf that guy — Tj (@TJHaLy) June 23, 2021 In a later tweet, he responded to a fan asking whether him leaving Scump was to do with confusion over whether OpTic CEO Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez would be getting a CDL spot. He clarified that “yeah I guess we can call that confusement [sic].” It would definitely be interesting to see what would have happened had TJ and Scump stayed together on Huntsmen and later OpTic. Both teams could have seen way more or way less success than they already have, but it will definitely go down as a huge ‘what if’ scenario.

TJHaLy reveals OpTic Gaming role changes ahead of CWL Championship – Dexerto
TJHaLy reveals OpTic Gaming role changes ahead of CWL Championship CWL/TreyarchSMG maestro Thomas ‘TJHaLy’ Haly has given fans an update on OpTic’s roles ahead of August’s Call of Duty World League Championships, as they look to turn their fortunes around. OpTic Gaming crashed out of July’s CWL Finals in Miami in spectacular fashion, failing to win a single map in the two series in which they featured. They started off against Luminosity Gaming, and fell 3-0. Notably, the hardpoint saw LG run up a 246-15 point run against the Greenwall. This was followed by a Loser’s Bracket matchup with Nadeshot’s 100 Thieves, which they also lost 3-0. This tournament was the first major in which OpTic tried to implement new roles, as they looked to improve on their third place finish at CWL Anaheim, back in June. At the CWL Finals, Dashy maintained his long term role as Prophet, with a Maddox RFB and Tempest. However, TJHaLy took over as Ruin, a specialist role that Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow had occupied for the majority of the season. He also used a Maddox more frequently, as opposed to the Saug SMG. Similarly, Crimsix was playing as Crash, the in-game medic who Scump occupied for the majority of Black Ops 4’s early season. To round off the changes, Scump was using Battery, a specialist TJ had occupied up until this point. Now, though, TJHaLy has confirmed these changes will not be continuing, following the teams CWL Finals implosion, speaking on his livestream on July 26. TJ addressed the role changes in a response to a viewer. “Nah, I’m running War Machine again,” he explained. “We scrimmed today, we’re fucking frying. I’m back baby. We’re back to our old roles.” Haly is clearly excited about being back as Battery, and feels the team is performing better with players returning to their familiar roles. It’s clear they will be trying to rekindle some of their old form with the role change, as they look to challenge the game’s top teams once again. However, CoD pro Maux recently suggested that they have wider teamwork issues, away from simple role problems. The old roles have not seen OpTic win a tournament since CWL Las Vegas in December of 2018. However, they placed fairly consistently while using these roles: 3rd at CWL London, and 3rd at CWL Anaheim.

TJHaLy and Clayster reveal new details about major CDL Playoff changes – Dexerto
TJHaLy and Clayster reveal new details about major CDL Playoff changes IG: OpTic GamingOpTic Gaming Los Angeles’ Thomas ‘TJHaLy’ Haly has appeared to leak changes to the Call of Duty League’s playoff format ahead of their official announcement. The inaugural Call of Duty League season has not been without its controversy. The move online has sparked debate over whether tournament wins should count, and the inclusion of Domination for the first time since CoD: Ghosts remains unpopular. One team that has struggled to find its footing in the CDL so far is OpTic Gaming Los Angeles who, on paper, boasts one of the strongest rosters in the entire league. However, they have come away from 3 of 4 events without a single win, including the most recent Chicago home series. OpTic Gaming LA’s struggles have left them joint bottom in terms of CDL points, amassing a woeful 20 after four events. However, the current rule set states that 9th-12th in the overall standings miss out on CDL’s Year One Playoffs. Read More: When is CDL Florida? Schedule, teams, more – This rule could be set to change though, with TJHaLy appearing to confirm that 9th to 12th place will simply start the playoffs in the Losers’ Bracket. “Chat saying 9 through 12 doesn’t go [to playoffs], they changed the format,” he said, in an April 30 Twitch stream. “9 through 12 start in the Losers’ Bracket. Wait, did they [the Call of Duty League] ever make that public? Oh, well now you know.” There was a mixed response to the news of the format changes. Some fans were pleased that struggling teams will get another chance to redeem themselves. However, others argued that the change makes CDL points worthless given that every team will be present at playoffs, regardless of total CDL points accumulated. Despite TJHaLy essentially confirming the format change, it remains unconfirmed until an official announcement is made by the CDL. It’s unclear how pro players feel about the change but, given OpTic LA’s struggles so far, TJHaLy’s team appears set to be given a chance to prove themselves when the CDL reaches its climax. Update – May 1, 11:52 EST. In response to the leaks becoming public, Dallas Empire’s James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks has explained why, even with the new format, seeding remains so important. “Since it got leaked already, there is a point for all of these league matches,” he said. “At Champs/Playoffs, 1/2 seed get a two round bye, 3/4 get a one round bye, 5-8 play each other first round in winners, and 9-12 start in losers. Huge to get a top seed, and huge to not start in losers.” Since it got leaked already, there is a point for all of these league matches. At Champs/Playoffs, 1/2 seed get a two round bye, 3/4 get a one round bye, 5-8 play each other first round in winners, and 9-12 start in losers. Huge to get a top seed, and huge to not start in losers. — Empire Clayster (@Clayster) May 1, 2020 One fan concern following the leak was that being forced into Losers’ Bracket was not a big enough punishment for poor performances all season long. However, Clayster’s reply emphasizes just how important form is to maintain throughout the whole season. Earning a two-round bye at a tournament as prestigious as CoD Champs would massively elevate a team’s prize money and put them significantly closer to being crowned world champions. We will continue to update you on format changes as they become available from the CDL.

TjHaly addresses rumors of OpTic CoD role changes – Dexerto
TjHaly addresses rumors of OpTic CoD role changes MLGProfessional Call of Duty player Thomas ‘TJHaly’ Haly has addressed the rumors regarding OpTic Gaming’s potential role swap, following CWL Anaheim. OpTic Gaming have always been regarded as a championship caliber team in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 since their win at the first event of the season, CWL Las Vegas. The fan favorite squad found themselves finishing in 3rd place at CWL Anaheim after falling to GenG in the Loser’s Bracket Finals, and three time World Champion, Karma, later sparked rumors of a potential role swap after claiming that the team might have performed better if teammate Scump was to run an assault rifle. One of the young players, added to the roster for the BO4 season, TJHaly, recently addressed the role swap rumors involving Scump after being asked by one of his viewers, saying, “Is Seth playing Maddox now? Nah he’s probably not, I don’t know what we’re doing.” He followed by explaining that they would be likely to keep their current roles and that he feels working on Hardpoint set-ups is their biggest weakness, adding, “We’re probably going to keep the same shit, we just don’t know how to hold a spawn because everyone wants to run at the hill.” Scump has been playing the SMG slayer role for almost the entire season (and career), the only exception being the first two weeks of the CWL Pro League, during which he ran the Maddox at times to accommodate FaZe Clan’s Tommy ‘ZooMaa’ Paparatto subbing in for Brandon ‘Dashy’ Otell. OpTic Gaming still remain to be the only team inside the CWL Pro League not to have made a proper roster change from the start of the year following the recent departure of Sukry from Heretics, as they have been looking inwards to fix the team’s issues. If they are to make a role swap, however, OpTic will have just under a month to prepare for the CWL Finals in Miami, which is scheduled to take place a few weeks after the Pro League finishes up on July 19.

Tips and Tricks to help you unlock the Dark Matter camo on Black Ops 4 – Dexerto
Tips and Tricks to help you unlock the Dark Matter camo on Black Ops 4 Fans of Call of Duty have been grinding for the special Dark Matter camo since Black Ops 4 released on Friday, October 12. This weapon skin is widely sought after due to its exclusivity, as players need to complete every challenge for every weapon in the game to unlock this special camo. Some of these challenges can be extremely difficult, but Reddit user ‘Miniatom’ has produced a handy tips and tricks guide to help Black Ops 4 players get their hands on the Dark Matter skin. This year, playing game modes from the Hardcore section of the game is the easiest and quickest way to unlock Dark Matter. For weapons like assault rifles and submachine guns where you need headshots to complete challenges, Hardcore’s limited health makes it much easier to kill opponents, meaning it takes less shots to the head to take down an enemy than in normal Core modes. Miniatom also suggests using Engineer as your first perk, as he feels that “seeing enemy equipment is your best friend” when trying to stay alive and get those kills. He also suggests using Dead Silence as your third perk, so you can sneak behind enemies and line up your shot. In terms of specific weapons, Miniatom states that you should run the Hellion Salvo launcher from the beginning, as this should ensure you finish the challenges for this weapon quickly. For the SDM sniper rifle, the High Caliber attachment is a must-have to make sure you kill enemies in one shot. The SG12 shotgun requires headshots, so Miniatom suggests using a laser sight on this weapon, and waiting around corners for enemies on hardcore modes. Unfortunately, while these tips and tricks may help you get the Dark Matter camo slightly quicker, it’s still a long road to unlocking the skin, and requires a lot of grinding to get it, as Miniatom states that it took over two and a half days of gameplay for him to complete the challenges. For in-depth guides on everything in Black Ops 4’s Multiplayer and Blackout modes, visit our extensive guide hub here.

Tiny MP40 loadout change makes Warzone SMG more dominant than ever – Dexerto
Tiny MP40 loadout change makes Warzone SMG more dominant than ever ActivisionIf you’re still running the MP40 in Call of Duty: Warzone, you may want to consider making a slight change to your loadout, as one barrel makes it more dominant than ever. Once Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard integrated at the back end of 2021, it didn’t take long for weapons from the newest CoD release to take over the battle royale meta. While SMGs like the Welgun, Owen Gun, and PPSH have had their moments, the MP40 has led the way pretty much since day one – even despite a handful of nerfs from the developers. As per WZRanked stats, the MP40 is pretty comfortably still the most used gun on Caldera, however, you may want to make a slight change to your loadout to stay ahead of the game. Warzone guru Metaphor highlighted the change in his April 11 video, noting that players are now switching to using the VDD 189mm short barrel, Krausnick IS02M sight, and Mark VI Skeletal underbarrel. The use of the shorter barrel means that you do lose out a touch when it comes to headshot damage, but you’re benefitting more from limb shots – which have been shown to be the most common shots in the battle royale. Additionally, you get additional damage range too, which always helps SMGs. The biggest bonus of using the Krausnick ISO2M over say the Slate Reflector is an additional boost to ADS speed. The MP40 is already pretty quick when it comes to ADS, but it never hurts to have more. Best MP40 loadout in Warzone Season 2 Muzzle: Recoil Booster – Barrel: VDD 189mm Short – Optic: Krausnick ISO2M – Underbarrel: Mark VI Skeletal – Stock: Krausnick 33M Folding – Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 45 Round Mags – Ammunition: Lengthened – Rear Grip: Stippled Grip – Perk 1: Steady – Perk 2: Quick – As the YouTuber notes, everything else is pretty standard for an MP40 build, but the slight changes just increase its dominance. “This MP40 is just disgusting,” he said. Though, as we’ve seen previously, the devs aren’t afraid of putting the MP40 under the knife and nerfing it. So, you might want to jump on this loadout before that happens.

TimTheTatman’s Warzone 2 team falls apart going for three nukes in a row – Dexerto
TimTheTatman’s Warzone 2 team falls apart going for three nukes in a row Activision, TimTheTatmanTimTheTatman’s Warzone 2 team fell apart at the last minute while trying to win three consecutive games with nukes. Securing a nuke in Warzone 2 is no easy task, even for the most talented of Call of Duty veterans. For one, the long and arduous process begins by winning five games in a row, then following the Champion’s Quest during the sixth match. If that doesn’t prove challenging enough, players must later collect the parts necessary for the bomb, arm said bomb, then defend it until detonation occurs. It’s understandable why anyone would express frustration when things go wrong under these circumstances. TimTheTatman comes close to nukes winning streak in Warzone 2 Popular streamer TimTheTatman recently posted a video of what should’ve been his team’s third win with a nuke. “We almost had three nukes in a row – back to back to back,” the content creator told viewers at the top of the video. Throughout much of the “3 Nukes in a Row” footage, it looks as though the crew will indeed achieve a three-peat. Notably, Tim manages to collect all three necessary elements about halfway into the video. It all amounts to nothing in the end, however. While attempting to arm the bomb, the streamer dies and leaves his squadmates to pick up the slack. Fortunately, someone else manages to arm the nuke; unfortunately, the team is unable to successfully defend the area. TimTheTatman doesn’t just express disappointment at his Warzone 2 buddies for missing out on the nukes hat trick, though. Stream snipers – even the helpful “Uber” types – received a “sidebar” talking to at the end of the video.

TimTheTatman wants Warzone to add big feature from Apex Legends – Dexerto
TimTheTatman wants Warzone to add big feature from Apex Legends Activision / Respawn Entertainment / TimTheTatmanAs Warzone is getting ready to roll out their Season 2 Reloaded update, streamer TimTheTaman reveals he wants Raven to copy Apex Legend’s rotating map feature to bring back Verdansk. The Warzone community is in its second season of the Pacific era and things have been shaky to say the least. Although fans were desperate for a change of scenery, they have been very outspoken about their displeasure with Caldera. Streamers like TimTheTatman have been brainstorming ideas to make Warzone better, and he is looking toward Apex Legends, as the CoD BR could take a massive feature. TimTheTatman wants Warzone to take Apex rotating maps During a YouTube video posted on March 19, Tim decided to spectate some Warzone and talk to his fans about what Warzone needs. Topic starts at 8:03 for mobile viewers While this may not come as a surprise, Tim begs Raven Software to copy Apex Legend’s rotating map system. “I do wish they would bring back Verdansk for us… I’m gonna use Apex as an example, like how you can play either of the maps. That would be great.” In Apex, the maps rotate every hour to two hours and help keep the game fresh for players. Plus it can definitely mix up the way people play. He doesn’t necessarily think Verdansk needs to replace Caldera completely. But, it would be great for the game to have multiple maps that players can load into. Sadly, though, the streamer is confident in it happening, “if I had to guess, probably not.” Tim isn’t the first one popular streamer to ask for Verdansk to come back. Swagg made a wild promise if Warzone were to bring back the OG map. There’s no telling if Verdansk will return, but we have seen rumors of an alternate version coming to Warzone Mobile when it releases.

TimTheTatman uses RICOCHET to hilariously “troll” Warzone cheater – Dexerto
TimTheTatman uses RICOCHET to hilariously “troll” Warzone cheater YouTube: TimTheTatman / Raven SoftwarePlaying against hackers in Warzone can be extremely frustrating — but TimTheTatman gave a hacker a taste of their own medicine by trolling them back. Raven Software introduced an Anti-Cheat system called RICOCHET at the start of Caldera in December. Cheaters still weasel around RICOCHET, but several updates such as the “weapon disarm” feature make cheating a much harder feat. Even though Raven Software revamped its efforts, cheating is by no means completely removed from Warzone. after the June 3 update, some Warzone players labeled the game “unplayable” because of cheaters. In a great example of RICOCHET working correctly, CoD content creator TimTheTatman “trolled” an attempted hack effort during a Caldera match, TimTheTatman “trolls” a Warzone hacker In the video below a hacker attempts to shoot TimTheTatman but can’t do any damage because of RICOCHET suspecting suspicious activity. The feature is called Damage Shield and in a blog, the Call of Duty developers stated “If you’re being shot and see your health slowly trickle down, you know it’s likely a cheater on the other end of the battle. The cheater in turn wastes ammo and eventually realizes they have been detected.” The streamer immediately realized that the player was a hacker and chased after them to have a little fun at their expense. TimTheTatman said “you d0 not learn your lesson. RICOCHET is working buddy. You can’t be hacking on us anymore. This isn’t Verdansk now, we are past that time.” I had to troll this hacker🤣 pic.twitter.com/arkDbXSs9J — timthetatman👑 (@timthetatman) June 23, 2022 TimTheTatman went on to say “I’m going to throw you” and then proceeded to execute the hacker in hilarious fashion by flinging them into the wall. As of writing, the video has 129 thousand views. Fans will be delighted to see Ricochet doing its job of correctly preventing hackers from affecting the outcome of a match.

TimTheTatman uncovers “fastest” LC10 Warzone class and it’s absolutely lethal – Dexerto
TimTheTatman uncovers “fastest” LC10 Warzone class and it’s absolutely lethal Activision / TimTheTatmanWarzone’s LC10 remains is one of the fastest SMGs in Warzone and this new TikTok loadout has quickly become incredibly popular in Season 2. Warzone and Black Ops Cold War’s Season 2 update not only introduced the FARA assault rifle, but it also saw the introduction of the LC10 SMG. This pint-sized gun may look relatively unimposing, but it is capable of dishing out some pretty decent damage. While the LC10 hasn’t overthrown the ever-popular MAC-10, it still remains a good pick for those that enjoy the run and gun playstyle. Call of Duty content creator TimTheTatman recently used a brand-new LC10 Warzone class, which has been growing in popularity over on TikTok. This particular build is purely focused on boosting the LC10’s ADS speed – an area that is incredibly important when going for those close-quarter kills. TikTok LC10 loadout Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Barrel: 13.9” Task Force – Stock: Raider Stock – Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip – Ammunition: 45 Rnd – This LC10 loadout increases both your mobility, range, and damage, which makes it particularly potent in close-quarter firefights. First up is the Agency Suppressor. Not only does the suppressor help conceal your shots, but it also decreases the gun’s vertical recoil. Read More: Best Krig 6 Warzone loadout class – Next up is the 13.9” Task Force barrel, which bolsters everything from the LC10’s effective damage range, bullet velocity, and strafe speed. Adding this barrel is a must for anyone looking to increase this SMGs lethality. The LC10’s clean ironsight enables this build to focus purely on speed, enabling the use of the Raider Stock. Having a lightweight stock improves the ADS firing movement speed, aim walking movement speed, and sprint to fire time. Being able to run rings around your foes won’t just make you harder to hit, it will also enable you to aggressively flank. Like most SMGs, the LC10’s recoil can be rather uncontrollable. Fortunately, the Field Agent Foregrip reduces both the LC10’s vertical and horizontal recoil. It may not have as accurate hipfire as the MAC-10, but when aiming down sights, you’ll be able to go full-auto without having to wrestle for control. Read More: NICKMERCS calls for Warzone weapon changes – Finally, the 45 Rnd mags offer just enough ammunition to down multiple foes without having to constantly reload. While it may not be as potent as the STANAG 55 Rnds, it is one of the only mag attachments that doesn’t impact ADS speed. There you have it, one LC10 loadout that you can use to destroy your opponents across Verdansk. TimTheTatman tries to sabotage Warzone 2 player’s nuke, ends in disaster – Dexerto
TimTheTatman tries to sabotage Warzone 2 player’s nuke, ends in disaster YouTube: TimTheTatmanTimTheTatman and his usual Warzone 2 squad tried to sabotage an enemy team’s nuke attempt, but their plan hilariously backfired. Earning a nuke in Warzone 2 is no small feat. Squads must win five straight games and then complete the Champions Quest in their sixth game. Completing the contract requires teams to collect three elements, arm a nuke, and then defend the bombsite before it detonates. Warzone 2 content creators have tried to think outside of the box while attempting the challenge. One community member got a nuke only using melee weapons, while another streamer pulled it off without firing a single bullet. When a team is attempting the Champions Quest, one of the squad members has their location revealed to the entire lobby. TimTheTatman and his streaming partners took advantage of that and tried to sabotage a nuke run. TimTheTatman fails to stop a nuke in Warzone 2 TimTheTatman and his team stumbled across one of the three elements an opposing team needed to complete the nuke challenge. Tim, Cloakzy, NICKMERCS, and Swagg camped in the supply closet holding the element and got on top of the shelf. Tim wanted to get revenge on stream snipers who ruined nuke attempts for them in the past. “You know what, this is going to be good for me, like a spiritual experience.” The plan almost backfired as a drill charge scared Tim’s team out of the room. Everyone got back in the room, and Cloazky assured everyone that the drill charges wouldn’t get them, but he tragically miscalculated. Four more drill charges pierced through the wall, taking out Tim and his teammates. Tim yelled, “How did they know? I trusted you, bro. I feel like I just got betrayed.” Ironically, before everything went down, Tim alluded that the enemy knowing where they are and having drill charges could be as “bad as it gets.” TimTheTatman and his teammates eventually won the match after winning their Gulag matches, but they failed to enact the revenge they were seeking.

TimTheTatman threatens to quit Warzone in epic rage: “This game is chalked!” – Dexerto
TimTheTatman threatens to quit Warzone in epic rage: “This game is chalked!” YouTube: TimTheTatman / Raven SoftwareTim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar has unloaded on Warzone in an epic explosion, with the YouTuber even threatening to quit the Call of Duty battle royale and dubbing anyone still enjoying the game a “total clown.” YouTuber TimTheTatman appears to be hitting breaking point with Warzone, declaring that even though he “still loves it,” issues are starting to take their toll. The Call of Duty battle royale’s fanbase has been splintering recently, with Caldera’s huge launch doing little to stem the tide of players ditching the title for rival games like Apex Legends and Fortnite. Top stars like Aydan, Dr Disrespect, and NICKMERCS are already jumping ship. And now, TimTheTatman is reaching breaking point too. In an epic meltdown, the YouTuber declared he is a “total clown” for still playing Warzone and begged Raven Software to finally save their sinking battle royale. TimTheTatman’s on-stream explosion on January 9 — which led to him rage quitting Warzone entirely — was sparked by one particularly hilarious gun bug that sprung up at the worst moment possible. The YouTuber was trying to execute a downed enemy when he “drew” his hands instead of a weapon, resulting in him dying to the resurrected opponent and his allies. “What!” the YouTuber yelled immediately. Betar was silent for a moment before exploding: “I’m beyond myself dude… I quit bro, I just quit! Why can’t I do anything in this game! I’m done. I need to take a break. I have to go somewhere, I don’t know where. Why does nothing in this game actually work bro! This game is just totally chalked. “I need to walk away, take a step back, look in the mirror. I’m going to throw on a clown nose, and just stare at myself for continuing to play this game.” “The hardest part,” he continued, “is I really love the game. I do, I do love Warzone, but holy f**k! What else am I going to play right now? I don’t want to play Apex Legends, I don’t want to play Minecraft. What else am I going to play? There’s nothing else, but then Warzone is just… “There’s Krampus out chasing everyone, I land with no pistol, you can’t do anything in this game. I took my hands out, against an enemy, and started swinging! “I’m out of here bro,” the Warzone star declared. “I need to mentally… holy f**k. I need to go listen to relaxing waterfall sounds in a sauna, and calm down.”

TimTheTatman-themed Warzone operator & gun skin earn his approval: “I’d buy this” – Dexerto
TimTheTatman-themed Warzone operator & gun skin earn his approval: “I’d buy this” Activision/YouTube/KevinVincent/TimTheTatmanYouTube streaming sensation TimTheTatman is calling on Activision to add content creator Operator skins to Warzone after being amazed by a fan’s custom creation. Warzone has been going through a very tough time with content creators of all sizes blasting the game for its balancing, hackers, maps, and other issues. But that hasn’t stopped them from continuing to play the game and even pull off some must-see highlights. Tim’s perseverance seems to have paid off, though, as one fan took it upon themselves to create an operator skin modeled after the content creator himself and Tim was absolutely in love with it. Now, he’s hoping that Activision follows up by actually designing creator skins themselves, similar to how Epic does with Fortnite, and adding them to the game. TimTheTatman wants his custom skin added to Warzone During a February 1 stream, Tim watched a video showing off a fan-made skin of him and was completely blown away. The mock-up animation features Tim, bald head and all, twerking in pink shorts. The gun skin, meanwhile, is a shotgun with his brand’s colors and font all over it. The design was so good, Tim couldn’t help but applaud it, remarking how he was “totally” for it. “If we want to have a conversation about creator skins or weapon concepts, I mean, I’d buy this!” he exclaimed. “I’d buy this right here. It’s fire. And, to be honest, I think that’s clean.” Whether or not we actually see some creator skins come to Warzone remains to be seen, but if Tim is on board, hopefully, it might one day become a reality.

TimTheTatman stunned after confronting Warzone hacker on stream – Dexerto
TimTheTatman stunned after confronting Warzone hacker on stream Infinity Ward / TimTheTatManTwitch star, Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar, got an insight into cheating in Warzone after he confronted the hacker who killed him. It’s no secret that Infinity Ward’s entrance into the battle royale market has been plagued with cheaters. While Activision have worked with the developers to produce more sophisticated anti-cheat technology, it seems that those on the other side of the fence are always one step ahead. Fast forward four months on from the release, and cheaters are still finding ways to get around the measures put in place (such as two-factor authentication and the introduction of shadowbans). And it appears that hackers are willing to flaunt their ‘immunity’ from the repercussions of cheating, as TimTheTatman ironically discovered. TimTheTatman confronts Warzone hacker After being blatantly eliminated by a hacker (referred to as ‘Line’ throughout the video), Tim decided to spectate to reaffirm his suspicions and expose the cheats being used. Little did Tim know that Line was sitting in his Twitch livestream the whole time. After venting his anger, Tim decided to confront the hacker to develop an insight behind their motives; where the streamer would ask a yes/no question and Line would respond by nodding or shaking their head in-game. To Tim’s disbelief, the cheater implied that they had hacks of this nature at their disposal for over a year. And when asked if they were worried about receiving a ban, they simply communicated ‘no.’ Segment begins at 4:20 for mobile users. But that’s not where it ends… In the post-game lobby, Tim managed to quickly ask how long the hacker had managed to get away with this for, to which they responded “maybe like six months.” Betar was baffled by the length of time they’d been getting off scot-free — presumably, two of those months were in multiplayer, which also received plenty of backlash for the sheer volume of hacks. It certainly seems that players cheating their way to a victory is becoming more common as the game matures, meaning that Infinity Ward have even more of an uphill battle on their hands if they want gain some competitive integrity in their battle royale once again.

TimTheTatman stars in new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 ad – Dexerto
TimTheTatman stars in new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 ad Internet sensation TimTheTatman made another appearance following his cameo in a 2021 Super Bowl ad. He’s back in the spotlight after appearing in a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 teaser trailer. Call of Duty developers have been known to recruit celebrities for advertisements in the past. An advertisement for Warzone in April 2021 featured Jack Harlow, Young Thug, Druski, Nadeshot, Los Angeles Dodgers’ Mookie Betts, Man City’s Jack Grealish, and other celebrities. This time around, Call of Duty called on TimTheTatman to star in an advertisement for Modern Warfare 2. Activision and Infinity Ward announced that Modern Warfare 2 will be revealed on June 8. An initial trailer was tweeted out and then a few hours later TimTheTatman dropped his own surprising reveal. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Teaser Trailer TimTheTatman makes a cameo appearance in the video below with the famous Modern Warfare 2 characters Price and Ghost. Whether or not TimTheTatman appears as an in-game operator remains to be seen, but Call of Duty is sure to have many other fun cameos in the buildup to Modern Warfare 2.

TimTheTatman spectated Warzone lobby full of his fans and it didn’t end well – Dexerto
TimTheTatman spectated Warzone lobby full of his fans and it didn’t end well Twitter, @TimTheTatman / ActivisionPopular Twitch and Call of Duty: Warzone streamer TimTheTatman is better known for entertainment than gameplay. And, as he found out the hard way during a spectating session, his viewers aren’t so skilled either. Tim is a lot like us: he likes to play video games and watch people play video games. Unfortunately for Tim’s ego, his fans might be a lot like him: passionate, but not necessarily gifted with the sticks. Deciding to spectate a Warzone lobby full of his viewers probably felt like a fun idea at the start, but Tim was eventually heartbroken by the results. Despite the Verdansk map being overrun by his viewers, none could secure the W. Afterward, Tim gave it to his stream straight — like a father disappointed by how many of his genes got passed down to his children. With tints of exasperation, sorrow, and perhaps some kinship in his voice, Tim let loose after the game ended: “Chat… how are we … How are there hundreds of us and we lost the game? We lost?!” Halfway through the concluding remarks, the streamer took count of how many of his stream participants were really in the lobby, rattling off a surge of players whose clan tags included “Tim” and “Fat.” Out of a relentless spree of TimTheTatman fans, none could come away with the W. And their leader was equal parts surprised and disappointed. Tim can look on the bright side though — and one has to imagine that he will. Streamers often talk about how important it is to build a community, especially a cohesive one with positive aspirations. In Tim’s case, it’s very clear that his community is cohesive, as they share similar characteristics to their fearless leader. As one of Tim’s subs in chat said, summing up the entire situation with energy and confidence: “WE SUCK ASS.”

TimTheTatman slams Warzone 2 over lightning-fast TTK: “This game’s in shambles” – Dexerto
TimTheTatman slams Warzone 2 over lightning-fast TTK: “This game’s in shambles” YouTube: TimTheTatmanTimTheTatman has pointed at Warzone 2’s TTK as a major reason that he prefers the original battle royale over the new edition, going so far as to say the game is “in shambles” in its current state. Warzone 2 has proven to be as divisive as any video game in recent memory and streaming juggernaut TimTheTatman believes it all comes down to the game’s all-around time-to-kill. In a January 3 video on his channel, Tim broke down how he feels about the current pace of the gameplay, and he went hard enough that he felt the need to add a disclaimer that his frustration comes from “a place of love” and that he wants Warzone 2 “to be the best it can.” TimTheTatman blasts Warzone 2’s TTK The mini-rant occurred during one of his classic spectating streams. In these matches, he dies as quickly as possible in order to be put in the spectating menu and observe how everyone is playing the game. After witnessing one too many “blink-of-an-eye” gunfights, Tim opened up about how demoralizing he finds the entire WZ2 experience, pointing to a popular TikTok video of ultra-talented pro gamer Aydan dying in this game faster than people died to the infamous DMR in the original game. “I dare say the DMR was the first thing that everyone in the Warzone community could agree on, that the gun was too strong…He had a third of a second to try to react to him being shot,” he explained. The YouTube star attempted to move on from the subject and confirm plans to stream the game with his good friends NICKMERCS and Cloakzy later in the week, but he was quickly put back on full tilt after watching the random player he was spectating absolutely erase an enemy with the Vaznev-9K. After getting his editing team to slow down the footage, the gunfight was determined to last 0.41 seconds from start to finish, adding emphasis to the point he was already making. To close things out, Tim went on to say that it feels like the devs “hit the wrong button” when setting the player health totals this time around, especially after the major Caldera update that upped the total health in Warzone 1 just months before the sequel’s release. As mentioned before, public opinion on Warzone 2 is split in a major way and incidents like this make it clear that Raven Software won’t be winning many of the game’s biggest streamers back over without making some serious changes to Al-Mazrah experience.

TimTheTatman shuts down CoD controller debate after KBM players roast aim assist – Dexerto
TimTheTatman shuts down CoD controller debate after KBM players roast aim assist TimTheTatmanCall of Duty content creator TimTheTatman has weighed in on the controller vs mouse and keyboard debate after it fired up once again. The controller vs mouse and keyboard discourse is certainly nothing new for FPS players, particularly those that play Call of Duty. In fact, the pro scene is filled with players who utilize one option over the other. While both devices have their own unique strengths and weaknesses, that hasn’t stopped a number of popular content creators from weighing in on the ongoing debate. Recently, both Dr Disrespect and TSM Myth attacked controller players on Twitter by stating aim assist is broken. Their comments have ignited this age-old discussion, with many CDL pros and CoD content creators voicing their own opinions on the matter. However, TimTheTatman has now entered the ring. TimTheTatman on mouse and keyboard vs controller Those of you that watch TimTheTatman’s Warzone streams will know that the content creator prefers to play FPS games on mouse and keyboard. This is obviously down to personal preference, but unlike the other big streamers, Tim doesn’t seem all that phased by controller players. Read More: Warzone players slam Numbers event – Instead, of adding more fuel to the fire, the popular streamer simply said: “If controller is so broken then play controller.” This relaxed response is in direct contrast to Dr Disrespect’s own comment, which quickly started the entire storm. “Without your aim assist, you ain’t nothin,” the Two Time said on Twitter. This was quickly followed up by TSM Myth, who said he’d never put a controller player in his top 10 for greatest FPS players of all time. Read More: Everything coming in Warzone Season 6 – As you can imagine, this didn’t exactly go down well with controller players, particularly those in the CDL. Nadeshot even hit back out at Myth’s comment, stating that his opinion meant very little. Your opinion went out the door when you slandered some of the best players in the world just because they play on controller. If you didn’t match up on mainstage against them, you don’t know what it takes. Plain and simple. On top of that, you haven’t been around long enough. — 100T Nadeshot (@Nadeshot) September 21, 2021 “Your opinion went out the door when you slandered some of the best players in the world just because they play on controller. If you didn’t match up on mainstage against them, you don’t know what it takes. Plain and simple. After all, both options have their own pros and cons.

TimTheTatman shows off “broken” Warzone sniper after Kar98k and Swiss nerfs – Dexerto
TimTheTatman shows off “broken” Warzone sniper after Kar98k and Swiss nerfs ActivisionYouTube streamer TimTheTatman has unveiled his go-to sniper rifle in Warzone Season 4, with the weapon class still reeling from recent nerfs to the Kar98k and Swiss K31. Despite being eternally popular for two years after Warzone’s release, sniper rifles have been in an awkward spot since Season 3 of Vanguard’s life-cycle dropped. The update removed one-hit capabilities for the majority of sniper rifles, meaning the dominant Kar98k and Swiss K31 became far less viable. Now, with Season 4 bringing yet more buffs and nerfs to the category, popular content creator TimTheTatman has unveiled his go-to sniper and loadout. TimTheTatman Warzone Season 4 Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle build In a July 8 YouTube video, the Complexity co-owner outlined the Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle as the battle royale’s strongest long-range weapon, remaining capable of those all-important one-hit knocks. It was among the snipers buffed with Season 4, seeing its recoil and rate of fire improved, as well as its overall consistency. Now, Tim believes it’s players’ best option in terms of snipers. “We got a new sniper,” he said, “a new broken – I dare say broken – sniper. Obviously, the Kar98k and the Swiss got nerfed so everyone was using the AX-50, people were using the HDR, maybe even some people were using the ZRG. Well, there’s this one sniper that I’ve just never tried… I think something is broken on it and something is not right because it is hitting so hard from such a distance.” He outlined his full loadout, making the most of the 10 attachment limit imposed on Vanguard weapons: Muzzle: MX Silencer – Barrel: 420mm Empress – Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x – Stock: Reinforced Stock – Perk: Discard – Perk 2: On-Hand – Rear Grip: Stippled Grip – Magazine: 13mm AM 10 Round Mags – Ammunition: FMJ Rounds – Underbarrel: Bipod – The Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle is among the most powerful weapons in Warzone’s current meta, with high damage and an impressive fire rate making it far superior to many of its nerfed counterparts. Players will need to run a strong secondary to compensate for the long-range specialty of the sniper rifle. Currently, there are few better options than the Marco 5 SMG. Dropping in with both and there’s no better way to maximize your chances of securing wins.

TimTheTatman showcases powerful loadout for “best SMG in Warzone” – Dexerto
TimTheTatman showcases powerful loadout for “best SMG in Warzone” TimTheTatMan/Treyarch/ActivisionTimTheTatman has showcased what he thinks is the “best SMG in Warzone” and he’s even included his own loadout that he’s been dominating with on Caldera. When it comes to close-quarter gunfights in Warzone, there’s nothing better than an SMG with a fast TTK and high mobility. It allows you to outmaneuver your opponents and take out multiple enemies in an instant if you’re pinpoint accurate with your shots. Despite this, the challenge when it comes to SMGs can often occur before the game, as it’s difficult to pick one out of the countless strong options. Therefore, it’s a great idea to take advice from streamers and content creators who are playing Warzone on a regular basis, as they have time to test out each of the guns. That’s why TimTheTatman’s recent video was extremely helpful, as he revealed which SMG he thinks is the “best in Warzone”, and even included a powerful loadout. TimTheTatman’s Welgun Warzone loadout Attachments Muzzle: Recoil Booster – Optic: Slate Reflector – Stock: Gawain Skeletal – Underbarrel: SG98 Compact – Magazine: .45 48 Round Mags – Ammunition: Hollow Point – Rear Grip: Stippled Grip – Perk: Gung-ho – Perk2: Quick – In Tim’s opinion, the best SMG in Warzone is the Welgun at the moment and it’s easy to see why. According to WZRanked, the weapon has a 4.4% pick rate and is currently the second most popular SMG in the game, just behind the deadly MP40. Unlike some setups that focus on medium-range encounters, Tim’s loadout is designed to thrive at close-quarters and take out enemies in an instant. With a high-fire rate and plenty of mobility, this Welgun setup is ideal when paired with a meta AR like the Cooper Carbine or STG-44. While Tim has said himself that he isn’t sure whether it outmatches the other SMGs in terms of TTK, for him, it feels like the best SMG in the meta. Without a doubt, this is an SMG that you to test in your Warzone matches as it has the potential to tear up Caldera in the right players’ hands. As Tim said himself, this loadout may not be optimal, so feel free to experiment with the build and add any attachments that you feel fit your playstyle.

TimTheTatman roasts Dr Disrespect while Doc is watching: “Go back to Apex” – Dexerto
TimTheTatman roasts Dr Disrespect while Doc is watching: “Go back to Apex” Dr Disrespect / TimTheTatmanDuring a recent stream, Dr Disrespect decided to check in on his old friend TimTheTatman playing Warzone. However, Doc couldn’t have dropped in at a worse time. It’s no secret that Dr Disrespect and TimTheTatman love to take jabs at each other. The two streamer friends can often be found bickering when they team up for a few matches of Warzone. Although the two have other games that they stream regularly, with Doc often playing Apex legends and Tim diving into Overwatch, they also like to spectate one another’s streams from time to time. That’s exactly what Dr Disrespect did while his friend was mid-game in Warzone, but Tim wasn’t in the best of spots and was far from happy to hear that the two time had stopped by. During his August 18 stream, Doc arrived on Tim’s stream when he had already died. He immediately launched into a hilarious intro poking fun at his fellow content creator. “Hey guys, Dr Disrespect, and we’re quickly jumping on board. We’re about halfway through this game and we’re spectating…a random? No.” Before he could continue, Tim exploded into a rant urging his viewers to tell Doc to get off his stream and return to his game. “Guys, tell Doc to go back to f**king Apex,” said Tim. “Go back, go play your Apex old man, get the f**k out.” He then continued by mocking Apex: “Go play the breaking shield, I broke him, I’m dead, I broke him, I’m dead. Yeah, go play that.” Doc, unfazed by the abuse he had just received, took the interaction as the light-hearted joke it was intended as. Simply responding: “Please like my videos, subscribe to my channel.” This comes just days on from TimTheTatman losing a $1,000 bet to Dr Disrespect, after he managed an incredible 70-yard throw at a San Fransisco 49ers training camp.

TimTheTatman reveals Warzone 2 sniper loadout fan paid him $50 to use – Dexerto
TimTheTatman reveals Warzone 2 sniper loadout fan paid him $50 to use YouTube: TimTheTatmanA chat member donated 50$ for TimTheTatman to try out their Warzone 2 sniper loadout. Miraculously, the donation did not lead him astray, so here’s the loadout free of charge. Sniper rifles currently sit in a precarious position for Warzone 2. The class has shades of potential, but as it stands, no sniper can one-shot kill an enemy to the head if they are fully armored up. In light of that, players demanded a buff to fix the underpowered rifles. We took a crack at ranking the best Sniper loadouts in Warzone 2, but our top-ranked weapon only has the 15th-highest pick rate, according to WZRanked. It will be interesting to see if the class receives any major overhaul in the mid-season update on December 14. In the meantime, a chat member in TimTheTatman’s stream may have found the perfect sniper loadout, immune to any pre-conceived class deficiencies. Let’s take a look at the full loadout. TimTheTatman reveals surprisingly good Warzone loadout TimTheTatman used a Victus XMR loadout, which a chat member asked him to use after donating 50$. The streamer earned a 10-kill victory while using the sniper rifle. He admitted that he didn’t use the weapon as much as his secondary option, but he saw the potential. “I have to be honest, this was actually pretty good. I think if I use this more, I get more used to it, I think I will be good to go. The more I play with it, the more I will like it.” Tim thought things would go a lot worse after trusting a chat member. “For 50$, I thought it was going to be terrible.” Here is the loadout TimTheTatman used. Barrel: Mack 8 33.5 Super – Laser: VLK LZR 7mw – Optic: BPZ40 Hybrid – Ammunition: .50 Cal High Velocity – Stock: XRK Rise 50 – Make sure to check out our guide on how to unlock the Victus XMR.

TimTheTatman reveals Warzone 2 devs ignored his advice over “aimbot” AI – Dexerto
TimTheTatman reveals Warzone 2 devs ignored his advice over “aimbot” AI YouTubeTimTheTatman voiced his disapproval of Warzone 2’s AI with Infinity Ward, but he claimed it fell on deaf ears. Warzone 2 introduced several new features, but not all of the innovations hit their mark. Players labeled the new backpack system “garbage” because it significantly slowed down looting, forcing a methodical playstyle. The battle royale sequel also introduced a new Gulag, featuring 2v2 combat. Community members have not liked pairing up with random teammates, and some want the original 1v1 Gulag back. And lastly, fans expressed concerns about the battle royale sequel’s AI presence. Activision added AI bots spread around Al Mazrah, and players have questioned if they are too powerful. Including, TimTheTatman, whose frustrations boiled over after facing the full brunt of their ability in a Trios match. TimTheTatman questions decision to include bots in Warzone 2 In TimTheTatman’s most recent YouTube video, he got a full taste of what the AI bots are capable of during a Trios match with Dr Disrespect and Zlaner. Tim got downed by a bot, and then on his way out of the area in a truck, he almost got killed again, prompting him to say, “I just don’t get it. How do you think this is a good idea.” I’m in physical pain trying to fight these robots.” Later in the match, Tim added, “I got sh** on by those bots. The fact that it got passed like this is a great idea really says it all.” Tim labeled the AI as “lasers,” and his biggest grip was the AI downing him as if they were real players. Zlaner added that the inconsistency of AI either being powerful or easily killable makes the feature frustrating. The streamer attended CoD Next and had an early opportunity to play Warzone 2. He claimed he went to dinner with developers after the event and told them, “I don’t like the robots.” Infinity Ward asked for feedback, and Tim didn’t hold back from expressing his feelings. Despite trying, his feedback didn’t make much of an impact on changing the feature.

TimTheTatman reveals secret attachment for best TAQ-56 MW2 Ranked Play loadout – Dexerto
TimTheTatman reveals secret attachment for best TAQ-56 MW2 Ranked Play loadout YouTube: TimTheTatmanIf you miss the ISO Hemlock in Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play, TimTheTatman revealed a TAQ-56 loadout that comes close to emulating its feel. Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play is not for the faint of the heart. The competitive game mode uses the official Call of Duty League rules, maps, and weapons. Players climb through seven Skill Divisions and earn rewards based on where they place at the end of a season. Ranked Play restricts most of MW2’s weapon pool, which limits loadout possibilities. However, Season 2 added the ISO Hemlock, and players thought they had discovered the next best thing. Treyarch quickly dashed those hopes, banning the controversial weapon from Ranked Play. With limited AR options, most players gravitated towards the TAQ-56, but it performs much differently than the Hemlock. TimTheTatman revealed a secret that helps Hemlock players feel more at home. TimTheTatman reveals best TAQ-56 MW2 loadout The TAQ-56 is everyone’s go-to AR in Ranked Play, but TimTheTatman was not a fan of the AR until he made an attachment switch. “I loved how the Hemlock felt and hated how the TAQ felt, so I had to change it around. I made this one change to my TAQ-56 loadout, and it made me feel like I was using the Hemlock I was using previously before it got banned.” The ISO Hemlock’s iron sights are hard to get a clear sightline from, so most players used a red-dot scope. Meanwhile, the TAQ-56 has a relatively clean iron sight, but TimTheTatman believes otherwise. “All I did here was after the Hemlock got banned, I realized that I needed to play with a sight on my AR, so with this change instead of a rear grip, I feel like a new man with this gun.” Here is Tim’s full TAQ-56 loadout. Barrel: 17.5″ Tundra Pro Barrel – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip – Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity – Stock: TV Cardinal Stock – If you aren’t a fan of the TAQ-56, try this change and see if it makes a difference.

TimTheTatman reveals powerful meta “quick scope” AX-50 Warzone loadout – Dexerto
TimTheTatman reveals powerful meta “quick scope” AX-50 Warzone loadout Activision / YT: TimTheTatManAfter the huge nerf to sniper rifles in Warzone Season 3, Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar has been using a “quick scope” AX-50 loadout — and believes it could be the new meta. On April 27, the Warzone Season 3 update introduced changes to maps, modes, weapons, and more. However, one of the biggest talking points was the massive sniper rifle nerfs, which impacted their one-shot kill potential at long distances. The AX-50 has been overshadowed by the other sniper rifles in recent seasons. However, now that they’ve all been nerfed, Tim believes the AX-50 might be a dark horse contender for the new meta sniper rifle. “In the update, the Swiss K31, the Kar98k, the Pelington — a lot of these sniper rifles that a lot of us loved got nerfed pretty hard,” he said. “You can’t one-shot someone if you hit them in the head from a certain distance away.” For that reason, he believes there’s a “new king sniper in town,” and he believes it’s the AX-50. “I think the AX-50 and this build is the one that’s going to replace the Kar98k, the Swiss K31, and all those quick scoping guns.” TimTheTatman’s “quick scope” AX-50 Warzone loadout Attachments Barrel: 32″0 Factory Barrel – Laser: Tac Laser – Stock: Singuard Arms Assassin – Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape – Perk: Sleight Of Hand – Tim explained the logic behind his decision, and it’s all about speed. “I’m telling you, the ADS is quick,” he said. “You saw me hitting shots from really far away. I’m telling you, give it a shot, baby. Give it a shot. New meta? Maybe.” Read More: How to unlock the new UGR SMG in Warzone – Of course, only time will tell whether his prediction comes true. However, Tim popped off for an entire session using the AX-50, so his claim has some substance. It can’t hurt to give it a whirl and test it yourself.

TimTheTatman reveals “one-shot” shotgun Warzone 2 loadout – Dexerto
TimTheTatman reveals “one-shot” shotgun Warzone 2 loadout YouTube: TimTheTatmanShotguns are not considered meta weapons in Warzone 2, but TimTheTatman revealed a Bryson 800 loadout that may change the conversation. A lot of discussions in the Warzone 2 community revolve around which long-range weapon reigns supreme, but short-range weapons are just as important. Akimbo pistols and SMGs appear to be early favorites for the best close-quarters option, but shotguns are unfairly overlooked. Data collected by WZRanked, revealed the most popular shotgun ranks as the 34th most used weapon. Every other class has at least one weapon rank higher. TimTheTatman made it his mission to find a shotgun loadout worth using in Warzone 2, and he ended up stumbling across a devastating weapon. TimTheTatman reveals overpowered Bryson 800 Warzone 2 loadout TimTheTatman crafted a “one-shot” Bryson 800 loadout in his latest YouTube video. He finished with 13 kills using the weapon in a duos match. This shotgun is way too much fun. The only problem is its reload.” Shotguns suffer from a slow reload time, but the Warden and Commando perk packages have the Fast Hands perk, improving reload speed. Here is Tim’s Bryson 800 loadout with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: Bryson Choke (+0.05 weight, +0.30 Length) – Barrel: 29.5″ Rifled Barrel (-0.34 weight, +0.21 length) – Laser: VLK LZR 7MW – Stock: Stockless Pistol Grip – Guard: Demo X50 Tactical Pump (-0.13 length) – People in the comment section acknowledged Tim may have struck gold with this Bryson 800 loadout. One player responded, “this shotgun absolutely shreds. ‘m using it right now, and even without all the attachments, it still does a ton of damage.” A second user added, “Tim has just released hell into the warzone community…” Players agreed that the Bryson makes for a great short-range weapon, as a third person argued, “I hate one-shot guns, but this is so freaking necessary with all the people camping on a desk in buildings in solos.” Al Mazrah is full of buildings to clear out, so give this weapon a try if you need extra firepower for the job.

TimTheTatman reveals epic VLK Rogue Warzone loadout from TikTok – Dexerto
TimTheTatman reveals epic VLK Rogue Warzone loadout from TikTok Activision / YouTube: TimTheTatmanTim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar has been trying out Warzone loadouts from popular TikTok videos, and thinks he could have stumbled open a gold mine, particularly with this VLK Rogue shotgun loadout for Season 6. [jwplayer uc1VZt4E] While before, he tried out a highly-recommended Akimbo 1911 pistol build — which it couldn’t be more evident he didn’t like at all — this VLK Rogue seems to float towards the opposite end of the scale. Shotguns have become a hot commodity in Warzone, especially since the introduction of Dragon Breath rounds made them arguably the most overpowered weapons in the game. That said, the VLK Rogue isn’t higher on players’ lists of favorites, with most opting for the Origin-12, the R9-0, or Season 6’s new JAK-12 shotgun. But it might be time to consider the Rogue, according to Tim. While the VLK Rogue is available as floor loot currently in Season 6, you won’t see many personal loadouts including it, but with the Dragon Breath rounds it looks as good as any other gun in its class. As Tim says, he hasn’t used the gun for a while, allegedly since its buff which occurred all the way back in May, so he’s not completely familiar with how to handle it. Before long, though, that clearly doesn’t matter. Here’s the loadout Tim says made him a “believer” in the weapon: Muzzle: Choke – Barrel: 16” Warlord – Laser: 5mW Laster – Pump Grip: XRK Race Grip – Ammunition: 8-R Dragon’s Breath – Skip to 17:13 for loadout only While Tim was clearly cautious at first, he ended up being a big fan of the VLK loadout, which was originally created by TikTok creator LoochyTV. Whether it’s good enough to replace the likes of the Origin or JAK-12 really comes down to personal preference. Really, any shotgun with Dragon’s Breath rounds will likely have the desired effect, but it’s definitely worth trying on the VLK Rogue to see if it works better for you.

TimTheTatman reveals easy Warzone 2 trick to earn free SR in Ranked Play – Dexerto
TimTheTatman reveals easy Warzone 2 trick to earn free SR in Ranked Play Activision, TimTheTatmanEarning Skill Rating in Warzone 2 Ranked Play is no easy feat but, fortunately, TimTheTatman unearthed a simple method to rank up faster. Season 3 Reloaded marked the beginning of Ranked Play’s first season in Warzone 2. Every player starts at Bronze 1 and must earn SR to progress through the mode’s seven divisions. Players rank up through match placement, kills, assists, and kills by your squad. Each division requires a specific amount of SR before ultimately securing a spot in the Top 250. A deployment fee deducts SR from a player before the start of every match, and the fee increases as you level up. With so many hurdles preventing players from reaching the top, it’s important to take advantage of any edge provided. TimTheTatman used the Gulag to help him get a couple of extra points. How to earn free SR in Warzone 2 Ranked Play TimTheTatman discovered that players could earn SR by throwing rocks at players fighting a Gulag match. Rocks do one point of damage, and if you throw them at the player who loses in the Gulag, it’s basically free SR. While not providing a lot, an extra five SR for every assist in the Gulag could add up if done every time. “I just got plus five SR for assisting someone in the Gulag because I hit him with a rock.” Tim couldn’t help but laugh after discovering the simple but effective trick. One player responded: “I’m taking notes right now,” and a second user added: “legendary maneuvers.” A few community members claimed this has since been patched, and rocks were removed from the Gulag. If this hasn’t been removed from the game already, try Tim’s strategy if you are struggling to rank up in Warzone 2 Ranked Play. And make sure to check out our guide on the best loadouts to use for the competitive game mode.

TimTheTatman regrets “sleeping” on CoD Mobile – Dexerto
TimTheTatman regrets “sleeping” on CoD Mobile YouTube: TimTheTatmanTimTheTatman went down a rabbit hole of watching CoD Mobile content creators, which convinced him to try the game. Call of Duty Mobile launched in October 2019 and quietly took over the FPS community by storm. According to a VGC report in May 2022, CoD Mobile boasts a lifetime download total of 650 million players, which is more than six times what Warzone achieved in its first year. Activision’s mobile game generated over a billion dollars, yet most mainstream Warzone 2 content creators have yet to give the game a chance or even know it exists, for that matter. CoD Mobile finally received recognition from MW2 and WZ2 players in January, as one of the game’s outlandish weapon skins went viral. TimTheTatman dove into watching CoD Mobile gameplay and came out with an entirely new perspective on the series. TimTheTatman gets convinced to try CoD Mobile TimTheTatman watched YouTuber Bobby Plays play CoD Mobile, and the skins and gameplay shocked him. “I have been sleeping. I am currently waking up, and I formerly apologize to anyone I said anything bad about CoD Mobile.” CoD Mobile’s elaborate skins surprised the YouTuber, including a Dark Matter Krig and a FAMAS hot dog skin. Tim also watched a weapon opening video and discovered the game’s animated weapon skins that get improved animations with each kill. For example, the AK-47 Kuromaku Prestige Skin has animated flowers and gains more flowers with each kill. Tim freaked out when Bobby used an AR with a kill animation of the enemy getting impaled with spikes. “Look at the kill animation! I have to give this game a shot, I have to try.” People in the chat told Tim that CoD Warzone Mobile is launching with Verdansk as a playable map. We don’t have a release date for the upcoming battle royale, but Tim is more than intrigued by the prospect. “Where have I been? I didn’t know there was a completely different battle royale that I could play with a mouse and keyboard on CoD Mobile.” Tim concluded by claiming, “I am going to play CoD Mobile. If we have Verdansk with that type of gameplay style and those bundles and guns, I am there.” If you want to give CoD Mobile a try as well, the game is available on iOS and Android devices.

TimTheTatman rages at Dr Disrespect fan after savage YouTube donation – Dexerto
TimTheTatman rages at Dr Disrespect fan after savage YouTube donation YouTube/DrDisrespectA savage comment made by a Dr Dispespect fan targeting TimTheTatman sent the latter over the edge in a hilarious rant. The Two Time recently made waves for blasting Warzone developers over Season 5‘s lackluster new event and complaining about the game’s sniper mechanics. Despite disparaging remarks, Doc returned to Warzone with TimTheTatman as part of his Triple Threat Challenge. Tim recently roasted his fellow streaming star over playing Apex Legends, and Doc decided to enact some indirect revenge. The pair has a long history of hilarious back-and-forth jabs, but this one may be up there with the best. TimTheTatman lambasts Dr Disrespect fan Dr Disprespect and TimTheTatman attempted a Triple Threat challenge on August 29, intending to earn duo wins in Warzone, Fortnite, and Valorant. The first hurdle proved to be a significant roadblock, as the pair struggled to get a victory in Warzone. A rough loss and ruthless comment sent Tim over the deep end. Doc pretended not to realize he had an unmuted mic and read aloud a donation roasting Tim. The donator said, “Tim needs to focus less on lowering keys and more on lowering cholesterol.” Tim responded, “I have never met someone named RJ, but from here on out, I don’t think I will like them. F**ck you, b**ch.” Enraged, the streamer continued to compare the donator to the emoji with glasses and buck teeth. Doc poked the bear further by allegedly reading a chat message saying, “were you expecting a triple snack challenge?” Putting no more effort into defending himself, Tim defeatedly responded, “it would be much easier than this f**king s*it.” Doc got the last laugh on this occasion, but Tim is sure to make some sort of retort in the future.

TimTheTatman rages as ZLaner makes perfect ‘fall damage’ joke in Warzone – Dexerto
TimTheTatman rages as ZLaner makes perfect ‘fall damage’ joke in Warzone YouTube: TimTheTatmanTimTheTatman dying from fall damage is one of the longest-running jokes in the video game community. OpTic ZLaner joined in on the fun during a recent Warzone stream. No matter the battle royal game, TimTheTatman finds a way of dying hilariously. The Battlefield 2042 developers roasted Tim for proving that fall damage exists in their game. Battlefield’s official Twitter account posted with the caption, “the games change, but the player remains the same.” Other developers took shots at TimTheTatman as well. The streamer asked for an operator skin in Warzone, and Raven responded by sharing an image of a Big Joke clown skin. TimTheTatman struggled to earn his first win in Fall Guys, and the developers relentlessly roasted him on Twitter until he earned his first crown. ZLaner creatively brought back the fall damage joke during a recent stream. TimTheTatman rages at Zlaner for fall damage joke Captured from Dr Dispresect’s August 1 stream, ZLaner pranked TimTheTatman. TimTheTatman told OpTic Zlaner to show the viewers everything he taught him. ZLaner responded by jumping off of a building and purposely downing himself to end the round for his squad. Shocked at what happened, the streamer couldn’t believe ZLaner purposely lost to get a funny clip. TimTheTatman responded, “that was toxic as fu*k are you serious, dude?” Dr Disrespect couldn’t help but sit back in his chair and silently laugh to himself as it all transpired. Doc claimed that the clip would easily go viral. TimTheTatman and DrDisrespect love going back and forth roasting each other, but ZLaner did all of the work for him this time. The prank did not actually anger the streamer, but TimTheTatman once again found himself at the brunt end of a joke.

TimTheTatman rages after Warzone Redeploy Balloon glitch ruins stream – Dexerto
TimTheTatman rages after Warzone Redeploy Balloon glitch ruins stream TimTheTatman/ActivisionWarzone streamer TimTheTatman found himself on the receiving end of the infuriating Season 2 Redeploy Balloon glitch, leaving him stranded in the air and denying him a victory. From game-breaking infinite stims to the infamous demon gun glitch, Warzone is no stranger to the weird and wacky world of in-game bugs. While Activision has since fixed a lot of the game’s older issues, there are times when new glitches make a debut. At the start of Season 2, Warzone added Redeploy Balloons to Caldera to help give players more opportunities to rotate around the map. While this feature has a lot of potential to help squads get into powerful vantage points, it doesn’t always work as intended. In fact, TimTheTatman quickly highlighted how frustrating the zipline glitch is when he got stuck during a Warzone stream. TimTheTatman gets stuck during Warzone Redeploy Balloon glitch After successfully taking down an enemy player, Tim decided to use the nearby Redeploy Balloon to get into the circle. With no enemy squads nearby and plenty of money saved up, it looked as though the popular streamer was in a strong position. However, things didn’t go as smoothly as planned. After Tim reached the halfway point of the zipwire, his Operator became stuck. The streamer glanced around nervously as the sound of the zipwire continued to run in the background. FaZe Nio grabbed a helicopter and tried to get Tim unstuck, but it was clear he wasn’t going anywhere. “Wait, what!? Is this game serious right now,” shouted the streamer. “Just leave bro, just leave. I can’t get in the chopper, dude. I’m going to die to the gas, I’m off, I’m done.” Timestamp of 6:01 After several attempts to try to free Tim, his squadmate had to leave him and the streamer was forced to watch as the gas chewed through his health bar. “Well, this is the last game for me. The stream will be going down after this ladies and gentlemen, I think I’ve seen enough.” Hopefully, Raven will address the Warzone Redeploy Balloon glitch sooner rather than later, but for now, it’s best to avoid this feature completely.

TimTheTatman questions Warzone anti-cheat after joining “hacker” lobby – Dexerto
TimTheTatman questions Warzone anti-cheat after joining “hacker” lobby Warzone introduced the RICOCHET anti-cheat system back in December — but TimTheTatman has questioned the validity of the system after joining a hacker lobby. Cheating has been a major criticism for Warzone on console and PC ever since its initial release. The RICOCHET anti-cheat driver was released in December with the aim of remedying the issue, but hackers have still been able to bypass the driver and cheat. Hacking is the number one complaint by players and questions remain over how strong the RICOCHET system is at dealing with hackers. The two forms of cheating reported by players are the use of wall-hacks and using an aim-bot which allows players to shoot enemies without aiming. Warzone content creator TimTheTatman has released two straight Youtube Videos dealing with hackers. TimTheTatman calls out Warzone devs over anti-cheat In TimTheTatman’s Youtube video on May 26, he showed a potential cheater shooting FaZe Booya while parachuting down, and TimTheTatman claimed at the beginning of the video that “we ended up in a hacker lobby. I have not seen one of these since Verdansk but low and behold, I guess they still exist.” Tim and the rest of his squad claimed that there were multiple cheaters in the lobby, and based on the clip it looked like they may have been using some type of Aimbot. The streamer said, “Those hackers ruined that,” and later added that “we won a hacker lobby.” In the video description, the streamer added: “Is Ricochet working still?” Read More: Warzone May 26 update patch notes – Players claimed that cheaters were “on the rise” during Warzone Pacific Season 2, and it looks like potential hackers are still getting into games at the beginning of Season 3 Reloaded. Tim, like many other Warzone players, has expressed their frustrations with hacking and has demanded for changes be made as soon as possible to reduce the risk of being confronted by cheaters.

TimTheTatman puts ugly end to Warzone aim assist debate with hilarious controller fail – Dexerto
TimTheTatman puts ugly end to Warzone aim assist debate with hilarious controller fail Activision/YouTube: TimTheTatmanThe controller vs mouse and keyboard debate, ever a fiery one, has reared its head once again — this time in Warzone. With competitors on either side making their case for and against it, mouse and keyboard player TimTheTatman may have inadvertently proven his own camp wrong… The debate has been one that’s gone on for years, and has only been exacerbated by the normalization of cross-play, allowing players on console and PC to compete against one another. The issue has been one increasingly debated in battle royale titles such as Warzone, Apex Legends, and Fortnite, with gripes on either side of the coin. So, with so much discussion about the problem, TimTheTatman and Dr Disrespect took to Verdansk with controller pro ZLaner to find out just how overpowered it is — though it didn’t really work out that way. Both Tim and the Doc had several struggles after plugging their controllers in, from a lack of aim assist and Tim confused on how to slide cancel with a controller. It got worse, though. While things didn’t go drastically wrong, Tim took a gunfight and it didn’t go how he would have hoped at all. He wasn’t in the greatest position as it is, but he pulled out an AR and whiffed his shots magnificently, spraying around his enemy’s head, letting the gun recoil whichever way it wants and overall just not putting on the best performance. Yo @timthetatman just single handedly ended the controller vs mnk debate pic.twitter.com/L2Hgn5zDN1 — OpTic ZLaner (@ZLaner) September 23, 2021 As ZLaner explains after Tim eventually dies, that clip alone can “end the feud of keyboard and mouse vs controller,” which would no doubt be a net benefit to gamers worldwide. Tim’s having a wildly successful 2021, joining YouTube Gaming and becoming part-owner of Complexity. He might be memed, but this clip probably won’t bother him too much.

TimTheTatman proves Warzone screen size doesn’t matter with W on Cowboys Jumbotron – Dexerto
TimTheTatman proves Warzone screen size doesn’t matter with W on Cowboys Jumbotron Twitter, @TimTheTatman / ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players are all too familiar with the perils of playing on a TV vs a monitor. But TimTheTatman found the truth while gaming on the Cowboys’ stadium Jumbotron: (screen) size doesn’t matter in Verdansk. Input lag, response time, latency — there are a lot of words describing the technical components involved in multiplayer gaming. But the premise is a simple one: bigger screens might be nice for watching shows and movies, but they’re not ideal for gaming. In fact, it’s a common topic among competitive FPS (first-person shooter) players in particular. If you play on a TV, have you ever wondered why someone seemed to kill you before you even saw them? It’s very possible they actually did, because the delays on PC and monitor are much smaller than on console and TV. So, if people think a 65-inch TV isn’t an ideal gaming setup, imagine playing on the Dallas Cowboys’ Jumbotron screen, which is… 160 feet wide. Well, Tim not only did it, he put all scuffed gamers on his back by securing a win. TimTheTatman games in the Dallas Cowboys stadium Stadium fireworks to celebrate @TimTheTatMan getting a legitimate Warzone kill on a 160 foot screen pic.twitter.com/lfZ7x2V8Dw — Dexerto (@Dexerto) September 28, 2021 Just after Tim’s recent signing to Complexity Gaming, the streamer has started an AT&T Roadshow where he streams from different locations. The first was at his favorite NFL squad’s stadium, as he played games with star running back Ezekiel Elliott against a massive backdrop. And after getting his feet wet, Tim decided to try playing on the big screen directly. At 160 feet wide and 72 feet tall, the game wasn’t likely to run too smoothly for the PC gamer — but he persisted. There were pyrotechnics when he got kills, relentless support from his teammates, and a conclusion worthy of the Guinness Book of World Records. TimTheTatman gets a win on the Jumbotron The legend @TimTheTatman really got to celebrate a Warzone dub with @dallascowboys pyrotechnics 😭pic.twitter.com/LYm4NxZbLI — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) September 28, 2021 In the end, TimTheTatman managed to snag a win. It wasn’t pretty, as he only got four kills and under 1,000 damage, but it still counts. While the Complexity streamer got serious help from former pros like MerK and TeeP, he taught us all a valuable lesson here: Even when the odds are stacked against you (hundreds of feet high, in this case), if you’re able to rely on your teammates, keep your head high, and commit to a common goal — you can do anything. Screen size doesn’t determine your worth, kings — passion and teamwork do.

TimTheTatman freaks out playing Warzone 2 as fans wear his Operator skin – Dexerto
TimTheTatman freaks out playing Warzone 2 as fans wear his Operator skin ActivisionDuring a stream, TimTheTatman joined a lobby full of players wearing his newly released Operator skin in Warzone 2. TimTheTatman officially joined the Call of Duty universe on May 31 via an Operator skin for the Warzone and Modern Warfare sequels. Priced at 2,400 COD Points, the new bundle comes packed with Tim’s Operator skin, The Gatman Assault Rifle Blueprint, Tactical Taco Loading Screen, and much more. Naturally, the man himself didn’t waste a second when the bundle finally launched, jumping into a lobby on a stream filled with other TimTheTatmans. TimTheTatman plays Warzone 2 with fans using his Operator skin After the Operator skin dropped in MW2 and WZ2, TimTheTatman started a live stream to play with fans. He specifically booted up a game of Massive Resurgence Solos in Warzone 2, then asked others in the stream to join him and wear their TimTheTatman skin. “I’m basically telling you to stream-snipe me, bro,” he said before launching the game. Within seconds of dropping onto the Al Mazrah map, the content creator found himself surrounded by characters who looked just like him. “Dude, there’s already like seven or eight of me going down! Holy frick!” These joyful cheers were quickly followed by Tim repeatedly shouting, “Oh, it’s me,” at the many TimTheTatman Operators that landed beside him. “I grossly underestimated the amount of people that were gonna be in here,” he added excitedly. Distracted by the sheer number of TimTheTatman skins on screen, the Warzone 2 streamer died pretty quickly. His enthusiasm for the humbling fan support seems to have been worth it, though. “I wanna just spectate this, bro,” he later said, commenting on the thrill of seeing different versions of himself fighting each other. Of course, TimTheTatman isn’t the only popular content creator to recently join the COD ranks. A NICKMERCS bundle also hit Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 on May 31.

TimTheTatman outlines “DMR 2.0” Warzone weapon following major Season 5 buff – Dexerto
TimTheTatman outlines “DMR 2.0” Warzone weapon following major Season 5 buff ActivisionYouTube streamer TimTheTatman has outlined the recently buffed M1 Garand as Warzone Season 5’s “DMR 2.0”, claiming the Vanguard marksman rifle is the perfect weapon to use as Warzone 2 closes in. Warzone Season 5 will constitute the final season of the Vanguard era, with Activision and Raven choosing not to drop a sixth season of content before Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. The update changed masses in the CoD battle royale, seemingly wanting to give the meta one final mega shake-up before it’s usurped by its sequel. Among the weapons surprisingly buffed by Raven was the Vanguard M1 Garand, a semi-automatic marksman rifle that, despite being a classic of the CoD franchise, has barely had an impact on Warzone’s meta. However, it saw flinch decreased by 33%, muzzle velocity increased by over 13% and a host of weapon attachments also strengthened. TimTheTatman claims M1 Garand is “DMR 2.0” in Warzone Season 5 As a result, it’s one of the strongest weapons in Season 5, at least according to TimTheTatman. The immensely popular YouTuber outlined his setup and reasons for using it in a September 2 video. “We got the DMR 2.0,” he said. “A lot of you probably remember the DMR back in Verdansk and how good it was. Well, I found one… It doesn’t feel as strong as the DMR did when it was broken but after the nerf when it was still viable – that’s what it reminds me of.” The DMR dominated Verdansk in a way few weapons have, leading Raven to nerf it heavily. While it’s not made a comeback like some other meta weapons, its spot is being filled by the M1 Garand in Season 5. Tim also outlined his class setup, making the most of the 10 attachments allowed on Vanguard weapons and maximizing its range, damage and accuracy: Muzzle: MX Silencer – Barrel: Cooper 25″ Custom – Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x – Stock: Chariot S3 TC – Perk: Hardscope – Perk 2: On-Hand – Rear Grip: Stippled Grip – Magazine: .30-06 30 Round Mags – Ammunition: Lengthened – Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip – Once the M1 Garand is locked in as a primary, all players will need to do is choose a close-range weapon to ensure they’re not caught off guard. Tim opted for the PPSh-41, another classic of the CoD series that is proving exceptionally strong in Season 5. However, if that doesn’t take your fancy, you can check out our recommended Armaguerra 43 class setup. With either of those ready for close ranges, the M1 Garand will ensure you can tear through enemy armor at those medium to longer ranges.

TimTheTatman explains why one huge Caldera change is ruining Warzone – Dexerto
TimTheTatman explains why one huge Caldera change is ruining Warzone YouTube: TimTheTatman / Raven SoftwareCaldera has yet to win over Call of Duty star Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar, with the top YouTube streamer claiming one big change in the Pacific update has “ruined” Warzone by taking away the battle royale’s core gameplay loop. Warzone entered a “new era” earlier this month, with Raven Software launching the battle royale’s second-ever map, Caldera, alongside a monster Season 1 update. The game’s seasonal shakeup has yet to win over Call of Duty star TimTheTatman, due to one big change: following the December update, Warzone players can no longer get loadout drops until late. Betar claims the loadout nerfs have “ruined Warzone.” The problem, TimTheTatman explained, was pushing that “loadies” into the late game sucked Warzone’s biggest strength — pace — out of the battle royale. TimTheTatman, like many streamers this month, has been grinding Warzone Season 1 and the tropical Caldera map. While the 31-year-old isn’t as jaded about the update as co-star Dr Disrespect, or top pro Aydan, he still has some major doubts. “My whole chat says they like it,” the star said, reading. “Chat, I ain’t with you on that one, straight up. I am not there. Agree to disagree, kinda thing. [The problem is that] it just feels so much slower, and I really hate that.” He continued: “The whole reason I love Warzone and why I think it’s such a good battle royale is the pace. You get loadies [loadout drop] early and send it.” “Now, on Caldera, it feels like there’s this weird lull in the middle of every game where I’m waiting to actually full send at someone. I don’t know. I know that we’ll probably get used to it but I promise you people won’t like this feeling. “Man… you just want to full send every game. That’s what you do in Warzone. This feels really bad, I think if they keep this feeling then it’s kind of ruined, really.” Betar’s biggest fear is Warzone may lose its identity with the change, especially as arch-rivals like Apex Legends and Fortnite lean into their own strengths. That could see another max exodus, the YouTuber warned Raven Software, à la the infamous cheater-fuelled exits earlier this year. “I have a gut feeling this is going to drive people away,” he added. “I mean, streamers like NICKMERCS, Doc, they’re not going to put up with this for long.” TimTheTatman did admit he’s more than willing to give the sweeping Warzone changes a chance, especially considering Caldera is a “clean slate” for the game, but is already starting off on the wrong foot either way. “I do have to get used to it, I guess,” he said. “Am I just too dependent on loadouts in this game? I don’t know, I just think it’s a big mistake to make the change. It makes Warzone not feel like Warzone anymore.” “I like the direction the map takes Warzone, hundred percent,” he added. “The vibrant, bright, jungle theme. But I can’t get on board with the loadies changes.”

TimTheTatman loses it as Scump destroys him in Black Ops Cold War reveal YouTube: 100 Thieves, TimTheTatman / Activision[jwplayer fKo7sjsG] Popular Twitch streamer Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar slowly descended to near-insanity during his Black Ops Cold War reveal stream, as pro Call of Duty player Seth ‘Scump’ Abner continuously destroyed him at every opportunity. A few select players have been able to test out the Alpha build of the upcoming Call of Duty title, including professional players and top content creators, and on September 9 they came together to showcase the game to the public for the first time. While we saw some incredible gameplay, with huge killstreaks and high-kill games across the board, Tim wasn’t constantly impressing like some of his peers. #BlackOpsColdWar is two months away and @timthetatman is already dying this way… 🤦♂️🤣pic.twitter.com/fXYoTUa6A4 — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) September 9, 2020 While obviously a talented player, Tim had one major issue while playing Black Ops Cold War: Scump. It seemed that every time Tim turned a corner, every gunfight he had, Scump was sat there waiting for him, ready to put him down and show the streamer why he’s referred to as ‘the King.’ Luckily, Redditor Trident31 was on hand to create a compilation of Tim’s epic rages, as he failed to get the best of one of CoD’s greatest ever. “Scump, I’m literally better than you, stronger than you and better-looking than you,” he said at one point, before it started to take an angrier turn. “Scumpii!” he screamed after dying yet again. “We get it bro, you’re a professional Call of Duty player, I’m a 30-year-old balding father, alright?!” With each and every death at Scump’s hands, you can see Tim getting more and more impatient, and the rages get even more hilarious as a result. Finally, he asks his chat to go in to Scump’s stream and tell him that “this isn’t the championship” and he needs to “relax” — finally buckling to the fact that maybe the world champion is just that good. Obviously, Tim wasn’t really annoyed at Scump, but we can’t imagine he was enjoying dying to the Chicago Huntsmen player that much either. Either way, it made for some hilarious viewing.

TimTheTatman left furious as “crazy” Jailbreak spoils Warzone 2 nuke – Dexerto
TimTheTatman left furious as “crazy” Jailbreak spoils Warzone 2 nuke YouTube: TimTheTatmanTimTheTatman attempted to complete the Champions Quest Contract, but a massive Jailbreak spoiled his team’s run. With no way to currently track stats in Warzone 2, content creators have shifted their focus to chasing down Nukes instead of high-kill wins. Earning a Nuke in the battle royale is no easy feat either. Squads must complete the Champions Quest Contract, which requires players to collect three elements, plant a bomb, and then defend the bombsite until the Nuke detonates. Not only that, but squads need to win five straight matches before even earning a chance to attempt the Champions Quest Contract. After collecting all three elements, a Jailbreak respawns every player that died in the match. In most cases, squads leave after getting eliminated, but it’s different when players have the rare opportunity to take down TimTheTatman. Nothing could have prepared Tim for an onslaught of enemies in the match’s final circle with a Nuke on the line. TimTheTatman’s Nuke run ruined by massive Jailbreak TimTheTatman teamed with his usual Nuke partners, NICKMERCS, Swagg, and Cloakzy, and triggered a Jailbreak by collecting the third element. The lobby spiked from 18 players to 51, putting Tim in an impossible position. All the streamer’s teammates respawned, but being the only one with loadout weapons, essentially put the mission in Tim’s hands. Tim fought admirably, but the hoard of enemies proved too much for him. “I have never seen a Jailbreak like that before. That went from 20 to 50-odd people just waiting for us to grab that final element; that was unreal, man.” Tim added, “this is one of the craziest Jailbreak experiences I have had in Warzone history.” Dealing with stream snipers is a never-ending struggle for content creators, but maybe this is karma for Tim previously trying to sabotage a team’s Nuke run a few weeks earlier.

TimTheTatman hilariously humiliates “rat” Warzone hacker on stream – Dexerto
TimTheTatman hilariously humiliates “rat” Warzone hacker on stream Activision / Apple / TimTheTatmanTimTheTatman took full advantage of a Warzone hacker that couldn’t do damage to him by embarrassing them live on stream in front of thousands of players. Hacking in Warzone has been an issue for quite some time. However, the RICOCHET anti-cheat has helped suppress this problem. One feature that this anti-cheat does is detect people that play unfairly and make it so that they can’t inflict damage. This started off as a random theory, but it has been proven time and time again that RICOCHET can give hackers bullets that have no effect. This created a hilarious moment when TimTheTatman encountered someone that had this debuff and everyone was loving it. TimTheTatman assassinates Warzone cheater with silent aim godmode timthetatman vs hacker pic.twitter.com/rEK8hIiG55 — timthetatman👑 (@timthetatman) February 13, 2022 On February 13, Tim posted a clip to Twitter that showed a hilarious interaction he had with a Warzone hacker while playing with Dr Disrespect. In the video, the streamer runs into a hacker that can’t kill him due to the silent aim that the anti-cheat put on them. He told Doc, “This kid is cheating, he can’t do damage, come here let’s go. This is actually one of the funniest ways they troll hackers.” So he hopped into a helicopter and soared through the sky knowing that he was safe from any harm. As he flies toward the cheater he said, “It’s not working, huh buddy? Rat!” Tim does what everyone dreams of doing to a hacker – executes them and embarrasses them on stream in front of over 10,000 viewers. Even though the anti-cheat might not ban every cheater in Warzone, people are loving this feature as they feel it’s extremely satisfying to kill someone they know is cheating.

TimTheTatman has huge fears for Warzone’s future after Caldera: “It feels dead” – Dexerto
TimTheTatman has huge fears for Warzone’s future after Caldera: “It feels dead” YouTube: TimTheTatman / Raven SoftwareTim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar has opened up on his fears for Warzone Pacific’s future, claiming the battle royale “feels dead” following the introduction of the tropical Caldera map in Vanguard’s huge Season 1 update. YouTuber and top Warzone star TimTheTatman continues to pick holes in the battle royale’s Caldera update, claiming the map swap has made the game feel “dead” already. Betar has been a long advocate for what has become Call of Duty’s flagship title in the last two years, but even he is beginning to lose his patience with Caldera and the game’s Pacific update. In particular, he is beginning to voice major fears around the title’s future, claiming it “feels dead” these days. “Caldera… it really is chalked, isn’t it?” he said. “I don’t see anyone on the maps anymore, everything takes so long to do. You actually battled other people on Verdansk. This new map just feels dead, always.” According to the star YouTuber, who joined the red-branded website as its top Warzone streamer in September, the Pacific update has taken Call of Duty’s battle royale in the wrong direction, leaving him fearful for the future. “It’s the way the map plays, do you guys agree?” he said. “Ever since the change to Caldera, you don’t see near as many people. It has to be the map design. I don’t see nearly as many people as [Verdansk]. That’s really worrying. “Five minutes goes by and you don’t see one person here,” the YouTuber continued. “In the old map, I think you’d see maybe ten, more in the same time waiting.” “I don’t think the change has been good. If I was playing Verdansk, running around, we’d definitely be seeing people. Not like one or two either, but like ten people. There’s something about the way Caldera is playing out, maybe it’s just people ratting victories, but it seems to be dead. It feels dead, the whole map, the game. I haven’t seen a single person except that one random dude flying around. The way the map is designed. I don’t know, but if it stays like this I can see people quitting the game. TimTheTatman sighed, then laughed: “I’m just starting to realize just how chalked Caldera really is. This isn’t even Call of Duty. It doesn’t feel like CoD anymore.” TimTheTatman voiced similar fears about a slower Warzone experience last week too, claiming at the time Caldera has sucked all the original “feeling” out of the Call of Duty battle royale, especially in regards to its pace. “On Caldera, there’s this weird lull in the middle of every game where I’m waiting to actually full send,” the popular Warzone streamer said. “We’ll probably get used to it but I promise you people won’t like this feeling. “Man, you just want to full send every game, that’s what you do in Warzone. This feels really bad, I think if they keep this feeling then it’s kind of ruined, really.”

TimTheTatman grills solo Warzone demon over cheating allegations after wild match – Dexerto
TimTheTatman grills solo Warzone demon over cheating allegations after wild match ActivisionTimTheTatman has seen it all when it comes to Warzone hackers. That’s why when he stumbled on the POV of an absolute demon in his lobby he had to catch them for a post-game interview to determine whether they were cheating or not. It’s normal for TimTheTatman to spend most of his day spectating other players in Warzone whenever he does stream the game, but not many of those games end up like this one. After getting bounced out of the game in a nail-biter of a gulag, the streamer kicked his feet up and watched a level 848 demon who was cleaning up the map. It didn’t take long for chat to start calling out this solo stranger so at the end of the 22-kill game, Tim joined the random’s lobby to set the record straight. TimTheTatman interviews sus Warzone player Once they were alone in a brand-new lobby, Tim wasted no time getting into the good stuff. “Hey Guap, are you cheating man?” he asked. Guap, who was previously unaware that the steamer had even been spectating him, was caught off-guard but insisted he was innocent and asked for examples of what was suspicious about his gameplay. Tim pointed out a few moments, like when Guap parachuted off a mountain top to escape enemy fire but ended up landing perfectly in front of an unaware player that was hiding in a bush. “Oh, I saw him right as I landed…I was about to plate up because I got shot in the back and then I saw him,” he said. (Skip to 9:22 for initial moment) This matched up well with Tim’s initial impression, so he pushed on asked about the next moment: “What about the building you pushed right after that? Did you see that kid on UAV beforehand?” This was in reference to Guap entering a barn that no one was making noise in and checking every angle to top to bottom before finding a player on the upper level and collecting the kill. Again, Guap had an answer that satisfied Tim’s curiosity: “They were fighting before…I had marked it[on the map].” Unfortunately for Tim, other players began to jump into the lobby and crash the interview before he could wrap up, but the few minutes he got were enough to render a decision. “I’m not getting that kid banned…I think that was a legitimate player who happened to be very good at the game,” he declared.

TimTheTatman gets back at Dr Disrespect after embarrassing Warzone Jeep fail – Dexerto
TimTheTatman gets back at Dr Disrespect after embarrassing Warzone Jeep fail Dr Disrespect/TimTheTatman/ActivisionA mishap with one of Warzone’s Jeeps finally gave TimTheTatman the opportunity to get back at Dr Disrespect, and provided some of the best content from the pair we’ve seen in 2022 so far. It’s no secret Dr Disrespect is not a huge fan of the current state of Warzone. Since Vanguard’s release, the Two-Time has laid into the developers as the battle royale goes into decline against titles like Apex Legends. However, no rant has summed up his relationship with the game better than a recent blunder on stream. Worst of all for the Doc — now even TimTheTatman has ammunition to fire back on the Two-Time with. On February 16, Doc and Tim decided once again to take on Caldera. As usual they had mixed results when it came to getting wins, but they did produce some memorable content. In particular was one moment when the Two-Time decided to take one of the WW2 map’s Jeeps for a spin, which ended in disaster. After hopping out of the driver’s seat to fire at an opponent, Doc ended up getting run over by the vehicle as it rolled downhill. Once he processed what had happened, Tim could barely breathe from laughing so hard, and said he couldn’t even see what was going on. you’re an incredible gaming athlete… truly one of the best @DrDisrespect pic.twitter.com/YrVuuVTyQE — timthetatman👑 (@timthetatman) February 18, 2022 On Twitter, Tim facetiously said Doc was an “incredible gaming athlete” along with the clip of the mishap. “You’re an incredible gaming athlete… truly one of the best,” Tim tweeted, finally getting a rib in at Doc for once. After suffering through moments like this, it’s no wonder the Two-Time prefers Tarkov over Warzone these days, even if the Call of Duty battle royale produces some great content.

TimTheTatman finds Warzone 2 Gulag trick to get out easily – with a catch – Dexerto
TimTheTatman finds Warzone 2 Gulag trick to get out easily – with a catch ActivisionTimTheTatman has discovered the perfect trick to get out of the Gulag, but it can require a lot of bargaining and trust. One of the biggest changes to come to Warzone 2 is the new Gulag system. Unlike the original game, Warzone 2 now pits players against one another in 2v2 battles. This obviously shakes the dynamic up completely, with both duos having to work together in order to have a chance of surviving. Throw in the proximity chat function, which enables you to talk to your enemies and you have a recipe for some rather interesting scenarios. While the game’s new Gulag has received some flak from the community, TimTheTatman has discovered a way to make the process a lot more engaging. TimTheTatman Warzone 2 Gulag trick is a must try During his recent stream, TimTheTatman found himself thrown into the Gulag. While the popular streamer has been known to win his fair share of 1v1 and 2v2 firefights, he decided to try a different approach to gaining his freedom. Instead of simply opening fire at his opponents, Tim used proximity chat to urge his enemies to work together to kill the Jailer – a monstrous AI who wields a deadly minigun. It’s important to note that the Jailer has increased health compared to a normal Operator, which makes them extremely difficult to take down. However, successfully eliminating them instead of your foes will return all four Gulag entrants back into the game. Armed with this knowledge, Tim managed to get his enemies on his side. “Stop fighting, stop fighting, let’s kill the robot and we all get out. Just kill the Jailer and we all leave, no problem.” All four Gulag prisoners then began to train their sights on the Jailer, opening fire and throwing grenades at their AI enemy. While there was one casualty in the ensuing fight, all four players were brought back into the game – proving that sometimes all you need is a little teamwork to win your Gulag matches.

TimTheTatman finds insane Warzone Mac-10 class on TikTok and it shreds – Dexerto
TimTheTatman finds insane Warzone Mac-10 class on TikTok and it shreds Activision / TimTheTatmanWarzone’s MAC-10 remains a staple pick among players looking to get a competitive edge in close-quarter firefights. However, this new TikTok loadout has quickly become incredibly popular in Season 2. The MAC-10 continues to be the most popular SMG in Warzone Season 2, giving players huge amounts of kill potential in close-quarter fights. Call of Duty content creator TimTheTatman recently used a brand-new MAC-10 Warzone class, which has been growing in popularity over on TikTok. This lethal loadout aims to maximise the gun’s damage without utilizing the game’s Agency Suppressor, an attachment that was recently not performing as intended. If you enjoy pulling off hyper-aggressive flanks, then this TikTok MAC-10 loadout definitely ticks all the boxes. TikTok MAC-10 loadout Barrel: 6.1” Reinforced Heavy – Laser: Mounted Flashlight – Stock: No Stock – Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip – Ammunition: STANAG 53 Rnd Drum – This MAC-10 loadout increases every stat aside from the gun’s fire rate, making it extremely versatile in close-quarter fights. First up is the 6.1” Reinforced Heavy barrel. This attachment boosts both the MAC-10’s damage range and bullet velocity, which enables you to quickly down targets before they can even react. Read More: Best Mac-10 Warzone class loadout – While the added damage range won’t beat an AR, it can prove useful when your foe sprints just out of the optimal damage range. Meanwhile, the Mounted Flashlight helps to increase your movement speed, giving you the mobility to outmanoeuvre and aggressively rush enemy squads. When you combine the Mounted Flashlight with the added sprint to fire time from the No Stock, you have an incredibly fast loadout. There’s no penalty for running and gunning with this MAC-10 loadout, so use its speed to your advantage. Rounding things off at the bottom are the Field Agent Grip and STANAG 53 Rnd Drum. Just like most MAC-10 builds, this loadout utilizes the Field Agent Grip. Not only does this diminish the gun’s vertical kick, it also helps alleviate any horizontal recoil. The STANAG 53-Rnd Drum also enables you to drop multiple opponents in a single clip, so you can say goodbye to any frustrating deaths that come from constantly reloading. Simply hold down the trigger and get racking up those multi-kills. There you have it, one MAC-10 loadout that you can use to dominate your opponents across Verdansk. TimTheTatman faces instant karma in Modern Warfare claymore fail – Dexerto
TimTheTatman faces instant karma in Modern Warfare claymore fail Twitch, and it’s hard to debate that when he finds himself in situations such as this one, with a hilarious claymore fail on Modern Warfare. TimTheTatman, real name Timothy Betar, has been creating gaming content for over six years now, getting his start in the Call of Duty franchise making videos on the highly-revered Black Ops 2 in 2012. Since then, he’s become one of Twitch’s biggest names, growing with the release of Overwatch and, more recently, becoming huge with his Fortnite Battle Royale gameplay. But, that doesn’t necessarily mean he always makes the best plays. This was evidenced during a livestream early on November 5, in which he was playing Team Deathmatch on Modern Warfare and had to make a play when he ran out of ammo. “I’ve run out of ammo, what do we do?” he said. “We bait them with a claymore.” He placed his claymore and waited patiently around a corner, watching to see if his opponent would step out, before slowly approaching and taking a cover behind a car. This proved to be a terrible decision. As he sat cautiously behind the vehicle, the enemy finally stepped out and was taken out by the claymore – along with Tim, who met his fate at the hands of the car he had taken refuge behind, which exploded because it was in the claymore’s vicinity. Tim couldn’t believe what had happened and was visibly speechless for a while, eventually addressing his viewers and saying, “There’s no way that my claymore blew up over there and blew that car up. There’s no way.” Claymores have been a huge issue for players so far in Modern Warfare, with streamers like Dr. Disrespect going on a huge rant about them, calling for the issue to be addressed. It’s likely that we’ll see claymores nerfed sometime soon given the community reaction, hopefully bringing some more balance to the newly-released title.

TimTheTatman explodes in rage over 105-KD Warzone hacker: “You little f**k!” – Dexerto
TimTheTatman explodes in rage over 105-KD Warzone hacker: “You little f**k!” TimTheTatmanThe hacking problem in Warzone has reached new heights in Season 4 and it appears Call of Duty content creator TimTheTatman has had enough. Warzone continues to be oversaturated with a never-ending horde of hackers, which makes playing the game incredibly frustrating. In fact, the vast majority of lobbies in Season 4 invariably have several cheaters running aimbots and wallhacks. Not only do these players ruin the competition in casual matches, but they also have crept into pro tournaments. Despite Activision targeting cheat websites and banning accounts, the video game publisher has remained eerily quiet on the game’s lackluster anti-cheat. Frustrations have certainly reached a boiling point within the Warzone community and it seems TimTheTatman couldn’t contain his anger anymore. TimTheTatman Warzone hacker rage Warzone solos are incredibly tough at the best of times, but Tim decided to spectate the lobby after being eliminated during the early game. It obviously didn’t take long for the Twitch streamer to find a hacker. “Level 8 new account, this game is f***ing awful,” said Tim. First game of the day, the literal first game of the day. First one and I’m watching a cheater!” After spectating three games that all had hackers in them, it was clear Tim was getting increasingly agitated. Read More: Everything coming in Warzone Season 5 – The hacker in question didn’t even try to hide his cheats and he began to laser every player down with ease. Tim even found that the player had ludicrous 85 KD. “How is there not an automated system,” shouted the streamer. “This guy has an 85 KD and there’s no anything! There’s no little red flag that says howdy guys, this guy has an 85 KD, maybe we should look into this one.” After spectating the hacker right to the end of the game, Tim had a few choice words to say to his opponent. “Hey f**k you WildPants, you hear me you little f**ck! I know you can hear me, I know you can. You’re so f***ing bad it literally pains me, it pained me to watch you,” yelled Tim. “I was in actual pain watching you play, you can’t even get up a ladder but you have a 100 KD. Nice f***ing automated system, dogs**t! You should feel bad yourself. I’d say get your money back, but it’s a free game. That account’s going to get banned, go make another one.” Read More: Popular Warzone cheating site taken down – After letting out his explosive rage, Tim began to laugh and proudly exclaimed that he felt better. Tim isn’t the only streamer who has voiced his frustrations at the game, with popular CoD content creators like NICKMERCS leaving the game in favor of other titles like Apex Legends. Quite when Activision will step up its efforts to deal with cheaters remain to be seen, but for now, the state of the game is at an all-time low.

TimTheTatman explains why Warzone should keep copying Apex Legends – Dexerto
TimTheTatman explains why Warzone should keep copying Apex Legends Activision/YouTube/TimTheTatmanWarzone players were pleasantly surprised to see the battle royale implement two popular features from Apex Legends for season 2 and TimTheTatman is demanding that Activision keep it up. The addition of Apex-style Redeploy Balloons and Heat Shield-inspired items have been a huge success for the Call of Duty battle royale, a true sign that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Given all the controversy and drama Warzone has had over the years, it’s good to see that fans have finally found something to praise the devs for. And for YouTube streamer TimTheTatman, they need to keep it up. During a stream where Tim voiced support for the Apex Legends-inspired additions, the Complexity star explained why they should not only continue to rip from other games, but exactly what he wants to see copied. (segment begins at 18:00 for mobile users) TimTheTatman weighs in on Warzone copying Apex Legends After winning a match of Warzone and taking advantage of the new features, the streamer popped off declaring, “this whole Warzone copying Apex thing, I think just to summarize my thoughts on it: copy more!” He continued from there, noting that he wants CoD to copy Apex’s ranked system too. When a teammate suggested that time to kill should be copied too, however, Tim had reservations. “It’s a little too much for me in Apex. But give me a ranked mode like Apex where you can fall out. I don’t like that you can’t fall out if you hit a certain threshold,” he added. “Get Iron Trials, that game mode – that time to kill 100%. With those balloons and let us buy UAVs.” “I love these changes and I want more,” he praised. “Make this the best game you can.” We’ll have to see what the devs have planned going forward and if they decide to implement even more features from Apex Legends. Considering how well-received the changes have been, hopefully it’s a sign of things to come for the battle royale juggernaut.

TimTheTatman explains why Warzone 2 needs to learn from Fortnite – Dexerto
TimTheTatman explains why Warzone 2 needs to learn from Fortnite YouTube: TimTheTatmanTimTheTatman claimed “Fortnite ruined the gaming industry,” as no other developer can match Epic Games, “diligence, touch, and effort.” Warzone 2 community members praised developers for adding loadout drops back to buy stations. However, Swagg and other content creators demand more action for ignored segments of the player base. Warzone stood toe to toe with any competitor at its peak, but Activision reported a loss of 50 million players in 2022. Streamers fear losing viewership, but at the end of the day, just want CoD to return to its former glory. TimTheTatman went on a 17-minute rant, explaining why the Warzone 2 developers would be wise to take notes from Fortnite’s development team and content strategy. TimTheTatman claims Fortnite “ruined the game industry” In TimTheTatman’s December 25 YouTube video, he laid out his grievances with Warzone 2 and praised Fortnite. “I want Warzone to be Fortnite in the sense of attention to detail and, to be blunt with you, the care that the creators over at EPIC have for Fortnite.” Tim lauded Fortnite for its in-game events, constant updates, and consistent developer feedback. He compared that to Warzone 2, which received a major update on December 15, and won’t get another significant patch until February. “I wonder if Fortnite ruined the gaming industry. Not one developer is going to come close to what Fortnite does.” Some chat members in Tim’s stream pointed out that Apex Legends should be acknowledged for its success, but recent community criticisms tell a different story. Tim also questioned Activision’s intentions when it comes down to making decisions, and argued it’s why the developers had no idea that perks weren’t working properly. “All they (Activision) are really paying attention to is sales, numbers, and how much money Call of Duty and Warzone is making.” In his concluding statement, Tim drove the point home that he loves Warzone 2, and that’s why he wants it to be “cared and handled the way Fortnite appears to be.”

TimTheTatman explains why Warzone 2 is actually better without loadouts – Dexerto
TimTheTatman explains why Warzone 2 is actually better without loadouts Warzone 2 controversially removed loadout drops in the game’s Alpha build, but TimTheTatman explained why it was the right decision. Popular YouTuber TimTheTatman and over 100 other content creators played three games of Warzone 2 at CoD Next. Warzone 2 makes several wide-sweeping changes to the game’s formula, and content creators have mixed opinions. Modern Warfare 2 removed the ability to slide cancel, and NICKMERCS praised the decision. Warzone streamer Repullze listed several significant concerns, and Swagg slammed Warzone 2’s Gulag 2.0. Loadout drops have been an integral part of Warzone since; however, Warzone 2 is moving in a new direction, and TimTheTatman believes the move could pay dividends for dedicated battle royale players. TimTheTatman shares his opinion of Warzone 2 During his September 22 YouTube video, TimTheTatman, and Warzone streamer Cloakzy talked through their thoughts on Warzone 2. Tim boldly claimed, “the new map for Warzone 2 is so much better than Caldera, and the new map and the way it was laid out is better than Verdansk.” If that take wasn’t spicy enough, Tim also stated that Warzone is better without loadout drops. Loadout drops can be bought from Buy Stations, allowing players to equip custom weapons, grenades, and perks. Warzone 2 introduces ‘The Shop,’ and instead of purchasing loadouts, players buy custom weapons. TimTheTatman argued, “I don’t know if we need Loadouts. The meta and loadouts make the loot on the ground useless. We loot just to get money to get our loadouts.” The YouTuber mentioned Fortnite and Apex Legends rewarding players for finding rare weapons, but you don’t get that same excitement in Warzone. “Ground loot doesn’t matter right now, and it’s kind of boring because everyone is using the same gun,” TimTheTatma said. Call of Duty Black Ops 4’s battle royale Blackout featured a system where players found attachments for weapons as ground loot. Tim believes Warzone 2 would be more fun if looting rewarded players instead of just being a race to buy loadouts. All features in Warzone 2’s Alpha build are subject to change, so nothing is certain regarding loadouts until the game’s November 16 release date.

TimTheTatman explains why the original MW2 is the “best CoD ever created” – Dexerto
TimTheTatman explains why the original MW2 is the “best CoD ever created” YouTuber TimTheTatman is replaying the original Modern Warfare 2 campaign in preparation for MW2 (2022). The popular YouTuber made a bold claim about the CoD classic. MW2’s campaign picks up three years after the events of Modern Warfare 2019. Captain Price has assembled TF141, the infamous squad from the original Modern Warfare games. The central conflict occurs after a United States-issued strike takes out a foreign general, placing the entire country in the crosshairs for revenge. Infinity Ward showed off MW2 campaign gameplay at Summer Game Fest 2022. The Dark Water mission featured an iconic CoD characters, John’ Soap’ MacTavish & Ghost. Pre-ordering Modern Warfare 2 digitally grants access to the entire campaign one week early on October 20. There is no better time to go back and play through original MW2 missions. TimTheTatman makes bold Modern Warfare 2 claim In TimTheTatman’s August 18 YouTube video, he explained why Modern Warfare 2 is the best CoD game of all time. “This campaign really was ahead of its time. This is why I think Modern Warfare 2 is the best Call of Duty game ever created.” The YouTuber played through the iconic mission Exodus, sweeping through a residential neighborhood with the help of a Stryker “Honey Badger.” TimTheTatman took his time going on detours and examining every minute detail within the houses. “I am just sitting here thinking about how spoiled I was playing this 13 years ago, the YouTuber said. “This truly was the golden era of Call of Duty and gaming.” After dying a few times, Tim eventually made it through the mission and was amazed at how well the classic game aged. He concluded by wishing Modern Warfare 2 reaches the same peaks as the original.

TimTheTatman explains how Warzone TikTok “hackusations” hurt legit streamers – Dexerto
TimTheTatman explains how Warzone TikTok “hackusations” hurt legit streamers Twitch: TimTheTatMan/Raven SoftwareTwitch personality Timothy ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar has explained how much of an impact hacking accusations can have on skilled Warzone content creators. Call of Duty: Warzone is one of the most popular battle royales and FPS titles in the genre, with millions of players dropping into Verdansk every single day. However, despite having a passionate and dedicated fanbase, the game has garnered a reputation for the countless hackers that can be found in almost every other match. This has pushed the community to become extremely suspicious of any players that show off their talent and skill in Warzone, usually resulting in them being accused of hacking. Of course, the majority of the accusations and criticism have been aimed at content creators who play the game every day. Well, TimTheTatman has spoken up on the issue, explaining how much of an impact these unfounded “hackusations” can have on a streamer. TimTheTatman explains the impact of Warzone “hackusations” With ZLaner, MuTeX, Symfuhny, NICKMERCS, and countless other Warzone streamers being accused of hacking on a regular basis, TimTheTatman uploaded a video explaining how much of an impact these claims can have. According to Tim, while casual Warzone content creators like him can brush off “hackusations,” streamers who rely on prize pools and their skill at the game cannot. For them, their livelihood is at stake when a person on TikTok accuses them of using third-party software. As cheaters are such a big problem in Warzone, it doesn’t take much to convince the community that a popular streamer is hacking. “I don’t make a living off being good… there’s people there that are very good at the game that these people on TikTok are accusing of cheating and it affects them because that’s how they’re making their money.” Topic starts at 6:00 Tim even brings up the example ZLaner, an incredibly skilled player that was forced to make multiple videos proving that he wasn’t cheating. On top of this, he had to set up various camera angles so everyone knew for sure that he wasn’t hiding anything. “This dude Z’s got to have a handcam, a left thumb, a right thumb, a gameplay, a second gameplay, a monitor, a bathroom cam, all to show that they’re not cheating”. It’s clear that the root of the problem is the countless hackers in standard Warzone matches, leading the community to become extremely paranoid. Until Raven Software implements an anti-cheat it appears as if these “hackusations” are not going away anytime soon.

TimTheTatman defends Warzone 2 amid fan complaints: “We are kind of spoiled” – Dexerto
TimTheTatman defends Warzone 2 amid fan complaints: “We are kind of spoiled” Activision, TimTheTatmanWarzone 2 streamer TimTheTatman came to the battle royale’s defense amid players and content creators moving on to new games. The future of FPS games took a massive leap on March 22. Valve finally unveiled the long-awaited Counter-Strike 2 and Fortnite revealed creative 2.0. The editor allows players to create their own battle royale experience utilizing top-of-the-line technology. Both announcements led Warzone 2 fans to question the future of their favorite game as competitors continue to innovate the genre. Before both announcements, TimTheTatman stood by WZ2 and explained why the battle royale is better than people give it credit for. TimTheTatman explains why the Warzone 2 community is spoiled TimTheTatman revealed why it is ironic to be a Warzone fan and explained an inherent cyclical nature that comes with the territory. “We don’t really congratulate Warzone on the things they have done better and instead just complain a lot. We forget about the stuff we complained about previously.” “We were complaining in Verdansk, we were complaining in Caldera, and here we are in Al Mazrah, and shocker, we are complaining.” Tim does not believe Warzone 2 is better than Verdansk but argues Al Mazrah is a “million times better” than Caldera. “I don’t think Warzone 2 is that bad.” The YouTuber believes community frustration stems from two core complaints, movement and a fast TTK. As for the game’s movement, Tim said, “I’m glad I don’t have to slide cancel anymore.” He doesn’t believe gunfights should be decided by who can move faster or slide around engagements. But the YouTuber understands both sides of the argument for a lower skill gap. Warzone 2 has a fast TTK speed, allowing less skilled FPS shooters to compete because they don’t need to land as many shots. “I think that’s the biggest complaint. They took the skill gap and shrunk it. They made it so if you run into someone super good, they might not be able to 1v4 you.” “I can see how sweats want to 1v4 and get clips and 35 kills, and I can also see as a casual, you are like, man, this is fun, I can get a kill on TimTheTatman.” Despite streaming other games, Tim’s enjoyment of Warzone 2 has not wavered.

TimTheTatman correctly predicts “short day” for NICKMERCS first Warzone 2 experience – Dexerto
TimTheTatman correctly predicts “short day” for NICKMERCS first Warzone 2 experience TimTheTatman spectated NICKMERCS’ first ten minutes on Warzone 2 and concluded Nick would be back on Apex Legends before we knew it. NICKMERCS streamed plenty of Warzone during its heyday but shifted all of his focus to competitive Apex Legends. His first season with the Tripods in the Apex Legends Global Series has been remarkable, but he hasn’t lost his passion for Call of Duty entirely. TimTheTatman got a few-week head start on Nick, playing Warzone 2 when it was first released in November. Tim didn’t hold back his judgments as Nick attempted to learn the ropes two months late. TimTheTatman judges NICKMERCS’ first day on Warzone 2 TimTheTatman reacted to one of NICKMERCS’ first Warzone 2 games in his latest YouTube video. Nick didn’t get off to the best start, trying to loot a weapon from a buy station. Warzone 2’s looting system has received criticism, and Nick agreed, claiming “it sucks” which made Tim laugh. Next, Nick tried stopping and sprinting over and over again to go faster, which once again made Tim burst out laughing. “We might not make it to the group stages here, Tim said. “He’s used to Apex, and it is super different.” It’s never easy taking on an enemy using a Fennec, and Nick learned the hard way. Nick got sent to the Gulag with two kills to his name, and Tim responded, “oh no, it’s going to be a short day; I can sense it.” Warzone 2’s new 2v2 Gulag didn’t catch Nick off guard, but his team failed to make it alive. Tim read the tea leaves written all over Nick’s face and concluded he wouldn’t play for more than two hours. “I think he’s already done, I think he’s already checked out. His face says it all.” We won’t know for sure what Nick’s verdict on Warzone 2 is until get gets more time in Al Mazrah.

TimTheTatman claims Warzone 2 Season 2 “saved” CoD battle royale – Dexerto
TimTheTatman claims Warzone 2 Season 2 “saved” CoD battle royale Activision, TimTheTatmanMuch of the attention surrounding Season 2 went to Warzone 2’s new map, but TimTheTatman explained how the update “saved” Al Mazrah. The Season 2 update delivered wide-sweeping changes to Warzone 2. Activision backtracked on some of the battle royale’s design choices, bringing back 1v1 Gulag matches, explosive-style looting, customizable perk packages, and more. WZ2 looks much more like its predecessor, and many of the changes were made based on community feedback. For example, the update also added more lootable cash and decreased costs at buy stations, making it easier to purchase primary weapons or loadout drops. Warzone 2’s first map Al Mazrah has received a lot of criticism, but TimTheTatman explained why the seasonal update was a major step in the right direction for the controversial map. TimTheTatman gives his Warzone Season 2 review TimTheTatman loaded up Al Mazrah for the first time since the Season 2 update and was pleasantly surprised by the changes made. “Compared to what I was playing on Al Mazrah before, this feels way better.” “This is my first time playing Al Mazrah with the update, and I think it’s good. The changes they made were good. The new looting I like, the deploy tokens out of the strongholds I like, more loadouts I like, the movement with plates I like.” Tim also added that the 1v1 Gulag was a great addition, and he talked about the pacing of games feeling better, as well. “We are very fast to talk trash. I think we deserve to say wow, Call of Duty, this was a good update. Many people would say this is what it should have been beforehand. The YouTuber argued that the Season 2 update “low-key saved us” because he believed Al Mazrah would have been in trouble if the map didn’t receive a substantial overhaul.

TimTheTatman claims Warzone 2 has “skill-based hit reg” after bizarre death – Dexerto
TimTheTatman claims Warzone 2 has “skill-based hit reg” after bizarre death Activision, TimTheTatmanTimTheTatman believes there is skill-based hit registration in Warzone 2 and backed up his claim with a bizarre clip. Skill-based matchmaking (SBMM) is at the center of heated debates among Warzone 2 community members. The controversial system matches players with similar skill levels and has especially received criticism in multiplayer. Some players believe SBMM unfairly punishes anyone who is good at the game by consistently putting them in tougher lobbies. Activision and Infinity Ward don’t share any information regarding the system, but it’s safe to assume WZ2 uses the feature. Similarly, skill-based hit registration relates to whether or not bullets hit an enemy based on skill level. WZ2 developers have not confirmed whether or not the feature exists, but TimTheTatman believes it’s real. TimTheTatman slams Warzone 2 skill-based hit registration Community members have speculated on the existence of skill-based hit registration since WZ1. If a player has a higher skill level, they will have to be more accurate in order to hit their target. TimTheTatman didn’t initially believe in skill-based hit registration, but a bizarre gunfight changed his perspective. While firing at an enemy on a bridge with an RPK, Tim claimed he hit the enemy but lost the engagement. “I have proof there is skill-based, hit-based bullet registration in this game. I didn’t miss a bullet, and nothing hit.” Tim slowed down the video frame by frame and was still convinced he didn’t miss a shot. “I can’t believe what happened to me in that gunfight. I do have bad aim sometimes, but that isn’t right.” It’s tough to know for sure, as you can only see a sliver of the opponent’s head pear over the bridge as Tim fires away. Warzone expert TrueGameData created a video in February debunking the existence of skill-based hit registration, but Tim still thinks otherwise.

TimTheTatman claims overpowered shotgun has “ruined” Warzone 2 – Dexerto
TimTheTatman claims overpowered shotgun has “ruined” Warzone 2 YouTube: TimTheTatmanTimTheTatman spectated a Warzone 2 match and couldn’t believe the number of KV Broadside shotguns used. Season 2 created a monster in Warzone 2. The KV Broadside shotgun became one of the battle royale’s fastest killing weapons of all time, deleting opponents in around 300 ms and in just two shots. Community members loathed its addition, and some went as far as quitting WZ2 over its reign of terror. Infinity Ward finally nerfed the KV Broadside in the Season 2 Reloaded update, however, according to WZRanked, the weapon is still the second most popular gun in the game. TimTheTatman explained why the nerfs weren’t enough to keep the KV Broadside from dominating lobbies. Is the KV Broadside still overpowered in Warzone 2? TimTheTatman spectated a Warzone 2 match in the post-Season 2 Reloaded landscape and was disappointed by the amount of KV Broadside shotguns used. The Season 2 Reloaded update reduced damage ranges on Dragon’s Breath Ammo and nerfed residual damage. The update also nerfed lower torso damage and 12 Guage Ammo, but it wasn’t enough to put down the behemoth for good. “You know how I know this gun is a problem? This guy has an AR, and he chose the fire shotgun from that distance.” Tim asked if this was the “most broken shotgun in CoD history,” and he argued it might be. “I think that this fire shotgun is more broken than the peak R9. You can keep shooting this thing, have 24 rounds on it, and that’s why I think it is more busted.” “I have played Warzone and all of the Call of Duty games. That fire shotgun is plaguing, destroying, ruining Warzone more than any shotgun in history right now.” It took a couple of nerfs to dethrone the RPK, and the same applies to the powerful KV Broadside.

TimTheTatman brutally trolled by Warzone devs after asking for his own operator – Dexerto
TimTheTatman brutally trolled by Warzone devs after asking for his own operator Twitch: TimTheTatmanStreaming star TimTheTatman got absolutely rolled by Warzone’s developers after asking for his own operator to be added to the popular battle royale because it was his birthday on April 8. Timothy ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar is one of the biggest and most known creators in the streaming world. Amassing over 7 million followers on the Amazon-owned streaming platform Twitch before his shocking move to YouTube in the fall of 2021 put him among the most followed on the site. However, despite having such a large audience, the popular streamer was trolled by Warzone devs Raven Software as the 32-year-old asked for his very own operator on his birthday. April 8 marked TimTheTatman’s 32nd birthday, and given the extreme amount of hours he’s put into Call of Duty and Warzone in recent years, the streaming star thought he’d shoot his shot at getting his own in-game skin. “Since it’s my birthday can I have an operator in Warzone,” Tim asked on Twitter. Needless to say, in a reaction reminiscent of the fun Fall Guys poked at him, Activision and Raven took their chance to poke fun at the YouTube streamer. yo since its my birthday can i have an operator in warzone? — timthetatman👑 (@timthetatman) April 8, 2022 They absolutely rolled Tim with a hilarious and coordinated back and forth joke that any TimTheTatman fan would appreciate. “@RavenSoftware Do we tell Tim?” tweeted the official Call of Duty account. “Found it,” responded Warzone developers Raven Software along with an image of the Big Joke clown skin that was added to the battle royale last year. As it seems, unfortunately, it looks like Tim won’t be getting his own skin in Warzone anytime soon. However, it might not be exactly out of question, given the recent addition of SnoopDogg’s bundle, marking the first influencer-themed skin in Warzone. We’ve also seen rival battle royales like Fortnite add creator skins into their game, so it could yet happen.

TimTheTatman asks Activision to remove his CoD bundle in support of NICKMERCS – Dexerto
TimTheTatman asks Activision to remove his CoD bundle in support of NICKMERCS Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2NICKMERCS had his Operator skin bundle removed from Call of Duty following a controversial tweet. Now, TimTheTatman has called on the developers to remove his bundle as well to show his “support” for Nick. The NICKMERCS controversy has, in many ways, divided the CoD community. In the hours following his initial tweet related to a Pride Month event, he was called out by several fellow content creators and big figures within the Call of Duty community and beyond. That said, he also had the support of those who agreed with his tweet. However, the developers behind Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 removed his skin from the joint store and said they were “focused on celebrating PRIDE with our employees and community”. This led to Dr. Disrespect uninstalling Warzone 2 while he was live, and now TimTheTatman is calling for the Modern Warfare 2 developers to remove his bundle from the game as well. TimTheTatman wants CoD devs to remove his skin from the store Despite TimTheTatman not being embroiled in the drama that’s enveloped NICKMERCS over the days following his controversial tweet, he now wants his skin bundle to be removed from the shop in solidarity with his close friend. Tim didn’t say whether or not he supports Nick’s message, but he expressed that he wants to support his friend and have his bundle removed from the store if NICKMERCS’ isn’t available for purchase. “NICKMERCS has been my friend for years- we went in getting our CoD operators together. It feels wrong for me to have mine and him no longer have his. In support of my friend, please remove the timthetatman bundle.” Both Tim and his viewers have enjoyed seeing the skin in-game, with him even getting swarmed by an army of Tims in-game. Loyal fans who bought the Operator bundle were clearly happy with their purchase. Activision have since honored Tim’s request and removed his skin bundle from Modern Warfare 2, and they put out this statement to address the Operator bundle getting pulled from the store: “At Tim’s request, we have removed the TimTheTatman operator bundle from the Modern Warfare II and the Warzone store.”

Timthetatman almost kills teammate then flash-bangs himself in hilarious Blackout match – Dexerto
Timthetatman almost kills teammate then flash-bangs himself in hilarious Blackout match Popular streamer ‘Timthetatman’ has proven to be a dangerous player in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout battle royale mode, but more to his teammates than opponents. Tim, who has become on the biggest Fortnite streamers on Twitch, has recently started streaming a lot more of Blackout since Black Ops 4 released on October 12. However, it’s clear that his skills still need some more fine tuning, as his hilarious sequence of actions in a recent match nearly got him, and his entire team, eliminated. It all start with when he chucks a Cluster Grenade at the window of a nearby building, or at least tries to anyway. The grenade explodes and destroys their Sensor Dart, and the resulting subsequent explosions also almost cause serious damage to a teammate. As if that wasn’t enough, Tim then engages an enemy player in a gunfight, and tries to use a 9-Bang flash grenade to his advantage, only to miss the window yet again and stun himself. What makes this whole sequence even more hilarious is how confident Tim was before the whole debacle: “You want to see why you guys give me grenades? Watch this throw chat.” It’s hard to pick out which of the moments is the most comical – the fact that he misses chucking grenades into a window twice, almost kills a teammate, or flashbangs himself while in the middle of a gunfight. His teammates all summed everything up perfectly once all of the mayhem had settled and the opponents had been eliminated. “Tim you flashed yourself?” “Tim is literally a danger to himself…” “Why are we letting him have throwables?!”

TimTheTatman admits he’s “praying” for Warzone flying car hackers to hijack stream – Dexerto
TimTheTatman admits he’s “praying” for Warzone flying car hackers to hijack stream TimTheTatman has admitted he now “prays” for Call of Duty Warzone hackers to find their way onto his streams, calling it easy content for his viewers. Hackers terrorizing Call of Duty players is nothing new. Especially in Warzone where the long-awaited Ricochet anti-cheat has seemingly done little to thwart cheaters from ruining players’ experiences. The most iconic form of hacking is using an aimbot to ensure players never miss a shot. However, hackers have recently stepped up their game and introduced a brand new cheat that turns any land vehicle into a flying car. Normally, players would have to call in a killstreak to have access to airborne vehicles as deadly as these new flying cars. And thanks to the absurd nature of these cheats, TimTheTatman is hoping it happens to him. TimTheTatman wants to face hackers for content During a live stream on January 24, TimTheTatman was playing Warzone with Teep, Merk, and DougisRaw. One of his teammates asked if he had run into a floating car while playing yet. Tim solemnly replied, “I have not. Honest to god, I’m praying for it. I want it to happen to me.” His teammates seemed shocked that, with Tim’s luck, he hadn’t seen one yet. “That’s like a million view video, you kidding me?” Tim continued, “‘I spectated a hack that was flying in a car’ holy sh*t!” With 4.3 million subscribers on YouTube and 35k concurrent viewers at the time of the clip, TimTheTatman isn’t hurting for views. In fact, he almost broke two million views on a video posted on December 31, 2021. (TimTheTatman reveals he wants to face hackers for content around the 3:40:28 mark) Tim and his teammates continued to talk about the possibility of running into hackers. At one point, Tim hopped into a helicopter and went looking for hackers to spectate. However, they weren’t successful in their hunt. Timothée Chalamet stuns CoD scene with insane controller mod story – Dexerto
Timothée Chalamet stuns CoD scene with insane controller mod story Wikimedia Commons: Maximilian Bühn/ActivisionTimothée Chalamet stunned the Call of Duty community with his favorite controller mod that abused a Modern Warfare 2 (2009) exploit. When it comes to celebrities who are gamers, Timothée Chalamet might take the cake as one of the nerdiest. Chalamet’s old controller modding channel was discovered by Vice in a 2021 investigation and it’s been a huge talking point ever since. It all eventually led to Chalamet presenting The Game Awards’ GOTY as his original moniker, ModdedController360, all while promoting his upcoming films Wonka and Dune: Part Two. So the question had to be asked. What’s Chalamet’s favorite controller mod? IGN asked just that. In an interview with IGN, Chalamet was asked the pertinent question, of which his answer would make any older Call of Duty fan excited. “I might be a little outdated now, but back in the day, it was something with a trigger mod,” he said. “It was like an FAL, with a single trigger, you could unlock it with a mod.” Essentially, Chalamet’s favorite mod was a simple trigger mod you can do to shorten the travel distance to actuate the button. However, during the era of 2009’s Modern Warfare 2 and early Black Ops, if the trigger mod was paired with an FAL, it was an insanely effective combo that was never intended by the devs. The FAL is the highest damage rifle across multiple CoD games, however, a main drawback is that it’s semi-automatic, which means you can only shoot one bullet per trigger press. But, if paired with a trigger mod which makes it easier to consistently shoot at a fast pace, it essentially morphed into an overpowered gun the likes of which the devs never intended. And the community’s reaction to his choice was one of joy, and also disdain of him being one to abuse such an exploit. “Love him but damn he was a little rat on the sticks,” a player jokingly commented in a Reddit thread about his choice. Another player commented on IGN’s original post, “I like how he knows the marketing, if a person likes or relates they’ll go support. FAL almost got me watching Wonka.”

‘Tilting’ Warzone bug leaves everything flipped on its head in Season 6 – Dexerto
‘Tilting’ Warzone bug leaves everything flipped on its head in Season 6 Infinity Ward[jwplayer WGyDcVLl]Warzone’s major Season 6 update has been riddled with bugs since it launched on September 28, though the latest issue might be the worst yet as Verdansk is literally being flipped sideways. Infinity Ward’s final season leading the charge with Warzone came boasting a ton of new content. The map changed in a big way thanks to the introduction of a new subway system. Players were able to nab two powerful weapons in the Battle Pass. And some of the most requested balance updates finally came through. This new patch was welcomed with open arms, though nearly every element of the major update has been bogged down in some way. The new subway stations created game-breaking bugs. Meanwhile, the new weapons came with issues of their own as players soon realized they could shoot through an unlimited number of walls. Now, one of the more absurd bugs of the season has just been uncovered. Stealing the spotlight away from the aforementioned issues, Warzone players have quite literally been shaken up by another new problem. “Flipped a vehicle and ended up sideways,” Reddit user ‘Venomx24’ shared alongside a video of the quirky bug in action. Their Operator was running sideways along the ground as though their waist was magnetized to the floor. No matter if they were sprinting, sliding, or even mantling over obstacles, the camera remained slanted. There was seemingly no way to fix the issue so the player “just left the game.” Not only was their perspective shifted, but this also had a huge impact on their ability to aim. “My aim was flipped with the cam so aiming up went to the top right,” they explained. You’d have to adjust your posture and lay down sideways to counteract the awkward tilt on-screen. It all stemmed from exiting out of a vehicle that had flipped on its side. So until a hotfix is deployed, be sure that you’re extra cautious when driving through Verdansk. The last thing you want is to flip your vehicle and have it ruin your entire run. Infinity Ward is yet to address this particular issue as they’ve been hard at work with plenty of more prominent bugs since the Season 6 launch. Frequent crashes due to the update even delayed a $100,000 tournament. Keep your eyes peeled over the coming days for a potential hotfix. Though in the meantime, do your best to avoid this ‘tilting’ bug in Warzone.

Tilting Modern Warfare glitch changes the way you view the game – Dexerto
Tilting Modern Warfare glitch changes the way you view the game Infinity WardIn a game where accuracy is paramount, it can often be frustrating when your point of view is hindered. Amusingly enough, that’s exactly what occurred throughout this ridiculous Modern Warfare glitch that completely altered the state of Shoot House for one unlucky player. Certainly no stranger to bugs, Infinity Ward’s latest iteration in the Call of Duty franchise has been host to a number of amusing glitches since release. From killer chairs to healing grenades, there’s never any shortage of discoveries, but a newly found issue might top the pack as the most tilting to date. Early into a game of Hardpoint on Shoot House, a close-quarters map that was added as part of the Season One content drop on December 3, all seemed to be going well for Reddit user ‘NmEBrecci205’ and their team. Upon respawning after the first control point disappeared from the map however, their perspective was randomly tilted. With the camera slanted ever so slightly to the right, it appeared as though the player was constantly leaning, even while aiming down sights and sprinting at full pace. Running through smoke, it took a few seconds for the player to register what was actually happening in-game. Stopping in their tracks to observe the odd glitch, it became clear such a tilting bug would lead to nothing but frustration. Hovering over the ‘leave game’ option, they soon changed their mind and decided to continue playing with the game-altering perspective in effect. There’s no telling quite how well they performed with such an odd bug impacting their experience, but it could come with its own benefits. While leaning is possible when close to certain terrain in Modern Warfare, character models always change back to the default stance when out of cover. With the camera always angled slightly, it could open up new opportunities to peek around corners and get the jump on enemy positioning for instance. Eerily similar to a recent exploit unearthed in the Overwatch community, it seems as though Activision Blizzard first-person titles can’t escape such world-altering glitches. With no surefire way to replicate the issue, players won’t be able to exploit the bug anytime soon. But if you ever spot an opponent that appears to be walking sideways, at least now you’ll know why.

TikTok’s viral Kilo Warzone loadout could be the best all-round class – Dexerto
TikTok’s viral Kilo Warzone loadout could be the best all-round class ActivisionThere’s a new, unique Warzone loadout taking over TikTok and it comes in the form of a hipfire Kilo 141 class that is sure to rip through enemies. As Warzone and its weapon meta has evolved, some players have become pretty experimental with their loadouts as they try to find something that slays enemies when nobody expects it to do so. We’ve seen SMGs given range boosts so they’re a bit more like assault rifles, snipers have been used like Shotguns, and automatic pistols have had their moment in the spotlight being used like SMGs at close range. Another popular idea has been to tweak SMGs and ARs so that they’re more useful when shooting with hipfire rather than aiming down sight, especially as you can dance around enemies at the same time. Well, now, Modern Warfare’s Kilo 141 has gone under the knife to be given the hipfire makeover and it looks pretty deadly, especially on Rebirth Island. TikToker ttvzyro showed just how deadly the hipfire focused Kilo can be, gunning down enemies who appeared to be dazed and confused by just how quickly their foe was running rings around them. As a result, a clip of Zyro’s antics with the Kilo has gained plenty of love on TikTok with over 2 million views at the time of writing, with the comments section full of praise from players saying they’ve also had success with the loadout. Hipfire Kilo 141 Warzone class loadout Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor – Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip – Laser: 5MW Laser – Ammo: 60 round magazine – Stock: No Stock – In terms of this loadout becoming meta, that may not happen right away. The Kilo falls outside of the top ten when it comes to most-used weapons in Warzone, sitting at 15th overall. It does get some love on Rebirth Island as the hipfire setup is pretty perfect for the close-quarters fights you regularly encounter. Though, it’s unlikely to completely replace SMGs like the MAC-10 or OTS 9.

TikTok’s unique Bullfrog & KAR98 Warzone loadout could be new sniper support meta – Dexerto
TikTok’s unique Bullfrog & KAR98 Warzone loadout could be new sniper support meta ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone TikTokers are running a unique loadout with the Bullfrog and KAR98, with the SMG setup being way different than the usual meta. Just like every other part of the Warzone meta, fans of the Call of Duty battle royale have long debated over which weapon is the best when it comes to being a sniper support. Many players opt to go with an assault rifle – such as the XM4 or the GRAU – just so they can keep a bit of that range. Others, though, opt to run an SMG, just so they’ve got something that fires quickly if they get stuck in a pinch. Players who opt for the latter, and keep an SMG attached to their hip, it’s usually the MAC-10, OTs 9, or MP5 that works best. However, the Bullfrog is starting to get a bit of shine again thanks to some viral TikTok posts. The Bullfrog has been a solid choice for quite some time in Warzone, even though it has slipped outside of the top 10 most-used weapons in recent weeks. Though, the TikTok videos are changing that little by little. TikToker TTVZyro’s post has attracted the most attention recently, with close to 3 million views on their post. Though, what sets it apart from the others is the build for the SMG. While most of the meta classes for the Bullfrog use the Task Force Barrel, this class doesn’t. Some of the other usual attachments – the Tiger Team Spotlight laser, GRU Suppressor, and KGB Skeletal Stock – all make it in, but what’s unusual is that the Serpent Wrap is also used, as is the 65 round magazine. The wrap is not used in any of the meta classes that WZRanked lists, while the extended magazine is only used on two. TikTok’s Bullfrog Warzone loadout Muzzle: GRU Suppressor – Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight – Magazine: 65 Round Mag – Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap – Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock – As for the KAR98 side of the class, it’s the typical build that doesn’t use the Singuard Custom barrel, but instead takes the Sport Comb Stock and Tac Laser. With the Bullfrog just on the cusp of the top 10, and being on the rise over the last few weeks, it could slide into the meta just before Vanguard launches. Though, we’ll have to wait and see how it shakes out with new weapons.
