  • Tfue returns to Warzone & convinces hacker to lose the game on purpose – Dexerto

Tfue returns to Warzone & convinces hacker to lose the game on purpose Twitter, @TTfue / ActivisionAfter what felt like ages, Tfue is back on Call of Duty: Warzone and Twitch viewers are delighted. To commemorate the return, the streamer pulled off the unexpected — successfully convincing a hacker to be a good person. While Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney can get viewers regardless of the game he plays, many had eagerly anticipated his Verdansk homecoming. And, now that the former Fortnite superstar has made his way back to CoD’s battle royale, the content is flowing. Tfue enjoys unorthodox weapons like the RAM-7 and that helps contribute to his appeal for a number of Warzone viewers. But it turns out that the streamer has more tricks up his sleeve, as evidenced during a May 6 Warzone session. While running around, messing with the new CARV.2 Tactical Rifle, he discovered there was a cheater in the lobby who was actually watching his stream, which gave him the perfect opportunity to communicate with the hacker. Beamed out of a vehicle, Tfue was left in stunned silence. Then, seeing the hacker pick up the streamer’s beloved RAM assault rifle, he had a concerned premonition: “Now, an aim-botter has my RAM. Great, great. This is going to go over well.” Already sitting on 21 kills, things did not go over well for the rest of the lobby as the hacker continued on to pile up another 10. Eventually, it was cheater versus one last player — and that’s when Tfue worked some magic. “Come on, let him win. You killed 31 people, just let him win, dude!” he pleaded with a wry smile on his face. With Tfue pleasing the case for humanity and fairness, the hacker was slowly swayed. He proceeded to put his gun away, spray paint the air, and die to the gas as Twitch chat erupted in applause. And, as a final message for viewers who had been so excited for Tfue’s return to Warzone, the streamer reminded everyone to look on the bright side: “Listen, bro. He’s a f**king cheating c*ck piece of s**t. But at least he’s not a cheating c*ck piece of s**t.”

  • Tfue mind-blown after hackers ruin multiple Warzone matches – Dexerto

Tfue mind-blown after hackers ruin multiple Warzone matches Tfue/Infinity WardPopular Twitch streamer Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney was left mind blown and frustrated after dying to multiple hackers in Warzone, in the space of just a few games. Among players complaints about Call of Duty: Warzone, few are as prevalent as the issues surrounding hacking. Many have criticized Activision and Infinity Ward for not doing enough to keep the average Warzone game cheat-free. The problems have continued into Warzone Season 5, and were experienced first-hand by Tfue, the Fortnite pro who has recently made more of an effort with Call of Duty’s second battle royale. However, it wasn’t just one isolated hacking incident that plagued Tfue as, in the space of one stream and a few games, he encountered three separate opponents who appeared to be manipulating the game to cheat. First up, a Superstore drop saw Tfue suspiciously eliminated by an opponent with just a pistol. “Bro what the f**k?” Tfue asked. “Yeah that kid might be cheating – yeah that kid’s hacking! I’m f**king reporting that kid.” It didn’t stop there though as, in a subsequent game, he encountered another suspected hacker, who once again took him out swiftly with a pistol at Superstore. The replay shows the opponent zoom in on Tfue’s exact location, despite him being obscured from view by one of the many shelving units in Superstore. The hackers weren’t done there, though, with one more appearing to surface in a pre-game lobby. Either that, or the opponent had better aim than most professional players, lasering Tfue from an obscene distance with the FR 5.56. It was only a pre-game lobby, but many viewers pointed out how suspect the incredible accuracy on display was. Encountering three hackers in the space of one stream highlights the issues that many players – particularly those on PC – are still having with cheaters in Warzone. Unsurprisingly, Tfue grew annoyed with the situation, reflecting the frustration and contempt with which much of the community has towards hackers. Many are still waiting for further correspondence from Infinity Ward and Activision, with Warzone set to feature in next year’s Black Ops Cold War, too.

  • Tfue doubles viewership on Twitch after return to Warzone – Dexerto

Tfue doubles viewership on Twitch after return to Warzone Twitch: Tfue/ActivisionAt the end of April 2021, Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney officially switched to being a full-time Warzone streamer after some time across Minecraft, GTA RP and more — and the results show a significant jump in his viewership. While Warzone isn’t the be-all and end-all for streamers right now, many of the top names on Twitch, YouTube and more will often be found battling in Verdansk and trying to pick up a victory. Since his Fortnite career died down, Tfue has floated between several different games at times and not quite lived up to his prior success, at least in terms of viewership. Now, he’s committing to Warzone full time, and it’s paying off, as shown by some of the stats and metrics on his channel. Doubled Twitch viewership Looking at some baseline stats from TwitchMetrics, we can see some huge improvements in Tfue’s viewership, which must be making his full transition to Warzone much easier. Firstly, TwitchMetrics showcase his 90-day growth on the platform, showing how his average viewers, followers and views have improved over time. On Tuesday, May 11, Tfue averaged 25,861 viewers throughout his 6-hour stream. Compare that to the week of March 8, just two months prior, where his average viewership was somewhere between 8-12k every day. At the time, Minecraft was his game of choice. Becoming a top Warzone streamer With Tfue’s switch to Warzone, he quickly established himself as one of the top streamers in Verdansk. As you can see from this table courtesy of SullyGnome, in the last 7 days at the time of writing (May 6-12), Tfue has the fourth-highest watch time among Warzone streamers. The only content creators with more hours watched than him are TimTheTatman, NICKMERCS and Swagg — not bad company to be keeping. Read More: Aydan picks the best Warzone duos – It also shows that he’s gained over 36,000 followers in the past 7 days while streaming the Call of Duty battle royale hit, far ahead of the rest of the top 10. So, while Tfue still maintained a respectable viewership with his GTA and Minecraft streams, many still want to see him tearing it up in the battle royale realm, and Warzone is perfect for it.

  • Tfue claims Warzone is “too easy” compared to Apex Legends & Fortnite – Dexerto

Tfue claims Warzone is “too easy” compared to Apex Legends & Fortnite Activision/TfueTurner ‘Tfue’ Tenney has long been one of the most popular names on Twitch and, in particular, in battle royale titles, but now he’s made a huge statement about Call of Duty BR Warzone, claiming it’s “too easy” compared to its competitors. Warzone came out in March 2020 and quickly became one of the most popular games in the world, with loads of top streamers making the switch to the game. Over time, though, many top names such as NICKMERCS and CouRage have left, opting instead for the likes of Apex Legends. This comes down to a multitude of issues, be it hackers, gameplay or the lack of a ranked mode. In short, the game has fallen out of favor for many, including Tfue — and part of that could be because of how easy he finds the game. After playing for a few hours on stream and recording several wins and high-kill games, Tfue ended his Warzone stream with his criticism of the title. “I came to the conclusion that this game is just too f**king easy,” he told his viewers when finishing up the stream. Making a tongue-in-cheek joke about the standard of player on the game, he continued: “Warzone is, in fact, the easiest battle royale to play. If you suck at video games, you probably have the most fun playing that.” Comparing the game to the likes of Apex Legends and Fortnite, he added: “Apex being a hard second [hardest], Apex is pretty hard… Fortnite’s easy in pubs, but hard in competitive. I don’t know.” Tfue isn’t the first person to share this sentiment. FPS extraordinaire Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek has explained why he thinks Apex takes more skill than Warzone, while NICKMERCS also said that Respawn’s hit BR is “more difficult.” Clearly, top players are finding Warzone way easier than the other battle royale titles they’ve excelled in. However, with calls to make the new Iron Trials ‘84 mode a permanent ranked mode in Warzone, this may not be the case for much longer.

  • Test shows Modern Warfare weapon recoil is “completely broken” – Dexerto

Test shows Modern Warfare weapon recoil is “completely broken” Every Call of Duty release relies on gunplay as a core component of its gameplay, but players have noticed major issues with some of Modern Warfare’s recoil systems. The latest Call of Duty title has seen the return of many of the series most iconic weapons, such as the MP5 and MP7, but players have identified some major problems with their recoil patterns. Some of the weapon’s recoil patterns appear to be very inconsistent depending on if their characters are standing or crouching in-game, compared to previous games in the franchise. CoD YouTuber, E-Roc, tested out each of the game’s assault rifles and SMGs to highlight some of the bizarre differences that could be seen with the recoil patterns when crouched compared to standing. Typically, a weapon’s recoil is reduced when a player crouches, and reduced further when prone, but in Modern Warfare, it appears that the opposite is in fact true. The YouTuber began to work his way through each of the weapons and demonstrated that some of the weapons had much more recoil when players were crouched, than when standing. E-Roc claimed that overall the recoil patterns in the game were “completely broken” and that it was likely not intended for Modern Warfare players to have this level of recoil when crouched. In previous CoD titles, crouching or going prone would reduce the amount of kick that weapons would give off, sometimes significantly, and make the weapon more easily controlled. However, that is not the case for Modern Warfare it seems, and players are calling for changes to be made so that the recoil system is more in line with the previous games. As of now, it is unknown if Infinity Ward intended for the recoil to differ with each weapon depending on stance, or if this is a glitch that they will look to fix in the near future. This is not the first time players have noticed something unusual about the state of popular FPS, as CoD pros have also criticized the game for some of its bizarre spawns.

  • Terrifying Warzone glitch sends trucks flying with no way to stop them – Dexerto

Terrifying Warzone glitch sends trucks flying with no way to stop them Infinity WardTrucks might be the most terrifying thing in Warzone moving forward as a ridiculous glitch is lifting them off the ground and launching them towards players. While more than 30 million players around the world get accustomed to the latest battle royale craze, a number of amusing glitches and frustrating features have been holding the experience back for some fans. Adding onto the list of gameplay elements in need of an urgent fix, trucks are now able to soar through the sky as a result of a newly discovered bug. Late into a round of solo action on March 24, Reddit user ‘YouTube_oRemyy’ already had three eliminations to their name and had made it through to the final third of the lobby. With a stacked loadout of weapons and equipment, all appeared to be going well for the player until an aggressive truck pulled up nearby. Rather than getting out and fighting mano-a-mano, the truck driver stayed put behind the wheel and tried their hardest to get a splatter for their efforts. Duking the driver left and right, the player on-foot was able to evade most attempts until the truck glitched and set out on a completely unpredictable course. Quite literally caught between a rock and a hard place, the truck found itself wedged between a tree and some nearby rocks. Reversing in an attempt to un-stick themselves, the truck began magically levitating and climbing its way up the tree instead. Flipping out and spinning sideways at the apex of its glitchy climb, the truck seemingly magnetized to the player as it locked on and flew directly on top of them. Crushing the player on-foot and leaving a pile of loot in their wake. With absolutely no time to react, there was nothing the player could have done to avoid being crushed in the moment. There’s no telling exactly how this bug came to pass, but given the criticism already thrown at Warzone’s vehicles early into its release, this could serve as another nail in the coffin.

  • Terrifying Warzone bug turns a door into an insta-kill death trap – Dexerto

Terrifying Warzone bug turns a door into an insta-kill death trap Activision / Pexels, LinaOne of Warzone’s newest bugs is also its most dangerous, as the Season 4 update has come with a random door that instantly kills players as soon as they make contact with it. And no, that is not an exaggeration. Warzone bugs and glitches come in all shapes and sizes — some of them let you turn invisible, some of them let you sneak under the map. But a new one can’t be exploited for nefarious, personal gain, it’s just a death trap. The Season 4 update brought a bunch of new POIs to Verdansk ‘84, including Satellite Crash Sites and mysterious Red Doors. It also brought a different sort of door, one that doesn’t lead you to exciting loot, but straight to the Gulag. As one of Warzone’s top players, Jukeyz, found out during a tournament, there’s a blocked door in Salt Mine that instantly downs you if you happen to run into it. As can be seen in the clip, Jukeyz is making his way around the map, looking to loot up and buy his teammate back. Suddenly, he makes the mistake of trying to go through a barricaded door. Next thing you know, he’s dead and his match is over. There’s no mystery snipe or Claymore around either, as evidenced by a kill feed that seems to indicate that Jukeyz somehow killed himself. One has to assume that’s just because there’s no icon for “death by door” in the game yet. And, for those who were hoping Jukeyz is a rare exception and an unlucky fella, apologies in advance. This bug isn’t only affecting him and there’s proof of it happening to a lot of other people. Watch out for this killer door. pic.twitter.com/Xln0GpSIDc — CharlieIntel (@charlieINTEL) June 18, 2021 At the moment, it’s unclear why exactly this door is bugged and if there are any other doors like this. One can only imagine that this is structural retribution for everyone who complained about door mechanics in Modern Warfare. The issue has yet to be added to Raven Software’s Trello board, so it appears that the devs have yet to take notice of this bug. For now, players should simply be extra careful around Verdansk. We’ll update this piece whenever news of a fix starts popping up.

  • Terrifying Modern Warfare visual glitch turns Operators into nightmares – Dexerto

Terrifying Modern Warfare visual glitch turns Operators into nightmares Infinity WardModern Warfare allows players to choose from a wide array of Operators to take into battle, yet this horrifying glitch might be the most effective at scaring the opposition away. Since the release of Infinity Ward’s latest entry in the Call of Duty franchise, players have been stumbling upon countless visual issues, from bugs that change the color of the map, to camouflage glitches that make it impossible to shoot. The latest bizarre feature directly alters the appearance of Operators in the game, and ensures they’ll scare off any foes who may get too close. Despite raising a hefty $1.6 million in support of Australian bushfire relief through the sale of a cosmetic pack that featured a new Operator skin, Modern Warfare can’t quite seem to nail down the features of a human face. Haunting the dreams of Reddit user ‘Imperial3agle,’ a creepy visual glitch changed the appearance of an Operator in the main menu. Tearing back a layer of flesh, the bug revealed what lays beneath the surface of character models in-game. From the movement of their protruding eyeballs to their full set of teeth sticking out among the Operator’s head, the disturbing visual was the last thing this player needed to see while playing the game late at night. A terrifying image that is sure to stick for quite some time, the glitch appears eerily similar to that of a viral Assassin’s Creed bug from Ubisoft’s 2014 entry in the popular stealth-based franchise. Removing the face and leaving nothing but eyeballs and teeth behind, Activision’s latest issue looks all too similar to Ubisoft’s notorious glitches. “Okay. Who let Ubisoft make a skin?” Reddit user ‘Dark_Kelta’ amusingly chimed in, further adding insult to injury with the creepy facial bug. 2014’s Assassin’s Creed Unity was plagued by this chilling visual bug. Seemingly a rare occurrence, there’s no telling how the issue came to be in the first place. Infinity Ward is yet to respond so the glitch could definitely pop up on your own copy of Modern Warfare until a patch is released. Hopefully you’re not playing the game in the dead of night like this unlucky player though, and avoid a jump scare that Modern Warfare should be rushing to patch out of the game as soon as possible.

  • Terrible Warzone glitch spot lets players shoot through the roof – Dexerto

Terrible Warzone glitch spot lets players shoot through the roof ActivisionA glitch in Warzone is letting cheaters get the better of their opponents by shooting through the roof to wipe out teams without the possibility of trading back. Call of Duty players have been struggling with a few gameplay issues in the battle royale as of late. There’s been a rise in teamers creating imbalances across modes as well as bugs that “handicap” Warzone’s snipers. As Raven Software work on resolving some of these issues, players also want to spotlight structural issues in Caldera as it pertains to people glitching into and shooting through walls across the map. It’s a convenient way for Warzone cheaters to stack easy kills and the larger community have been contending with multiple iterations of this problem. Warzone walling cheat ruining games Redditor ‘didonato’ was surprised after finding how he and his duo got wiped after taking over a rooftop vantage point. The area was cleared from players, save from two opponents nearby inside of the building below. Shortly after, one of the players went down. After surveying the nearby area, and joining to pick up his teammate, didonato also went down. The Killcam revealed their attackers glitched inside of the walls of the structure with clear sightlines to the player and his teammate. The Warzone community didn’t like seeing the walling exploit appear in yet another spot on the map, but the scenes were, unfortunately, unsurprising to a lot of players. “I kept getting wrecked there last night,” one player said. “I couldn’t figure out how or why because it never made any sense. It didn’t help that the usual Warzone bug where you get no kill cam kept happening.” Read more: When is Warzone Pacific Season 3? – As the devs continue to iron out Warzone’s exploits, players want these walling cheats addressed to ensure the competitive integrity in the battle royale.

  • Terrible Warzone glitch is making Modern Warfare Operators unplayable – Dexerto

Terrible Warzone glitch is making Modern Warfare Operators unplayable ActivisionAs Warzone players continue to heap praise on the changes introduced in the Season 2 Reloaded update, there are a few bugs that Raven Software will have to iron out – the latest being a Modern Warfare Operator glitch. Raven Software‘s big Rebirth Island update has been the cause of a couple of issues as Warzone players continue to drop into the renovated map. With the Season 2 Reloaded update, some other problems have found their way into the game. For example, one reported bug has caused players to become weaponless and begin floating through portions of the map, making the game almost unplayable. On top of that, there are reports that another glitch has surfaced and made it so that a game mechanic becomes unavailable. Warzone Modern Warfare Operators bug Redditor MonkeyMan2819 posted about a bug that’s apparently impacting “all MW Operators” in Warzone. The finishing move, known as “executions/s4_execution-generic_leprechaun _01,” is a bug that, when used mid-match, doesn’t do anything. In addition, activating this finisher prevents you from doing an execution for the rest of the battle, which is obviously a big frustration for members of the community. The worst part about this bug seems to be that there isn’t a way, as of March 29, to physically remove the finisher as it is automatically equipped to all Modern Warfare Operators by default. How many other Operators this bug impacts is unclear at the time of writing, yet it seems that the Modern Warfare Operators are virtually unplayable when the problem occurs. As is the case with all other Warzone bugs, players will be hoping to see this patched up soon.

  • “Terrible” Warzone 2 bundle splits community as players argue value of reskins – Dexerto

“Terrible” Warzone 2 bundle splits community as players argue value of reskins ActivisionWarzone 2 players argued amongst themselves over Activision’s recent practice of selling reskins for new bundles, with many in the community calling out the devs in a heated debate. Reskins are a fairly common practice in the gaming industry, where the developers create a different color palette for a preexisting cosmetic. But this practice created anger in the Warzone 2 community, as players expressed their frustrations surrounding the practice and voiced their desire for novel and innovative bundles instead. Others, however, defended Activision, resulting in a rather heated debate in the comment section of the Warzone subreddit — an admittedly common occurrence on the platform. The original post stated “this new bundle cost 2400 CP for a recolor operator skin. Really miss the time when WZ1 [had] some unique skins. This new bundle is just terrible.” Another Redditor attacked the poster, stating “then don’t f**king buy it. You nerds just look for anything to b**ch about now.” This is the most upvoted comment on this post, serving as good precedent to the rest of the conversations. “No seriously the quality of bundles is so damn bad. There has not been a single good tracer blueprint yet that even matches the quality of [Modern Warfare 2019, Cold War, or Vanguard]” a player added, defending the original posters’ sentiments. “Then don’t buy them. Holy s**t when you walk down the aisle at the grocery store do you complain about how bad all the stuff you aren’t buying is too?” another member of the community responded, retaliating and adding more firewood to the already blazing fire. “Dude the bundles are a*s compared to wz1. They should know we think it’s a*s.” The post has now become a place for players to argue with one another, where they debate the same points over and over with profanity sprinkled throughout.

  • “Terrible” Modern Warfare 2 cheater streams with aim hacks and still loses – Dexerto

“Terrible” Modern Warfare 2 cheater streams with aim hacks and still loses TikTok/ActivisionA TikToker has been streaming themself playing Modern Warfare 2 with cheats on, and the Call of Duty community hasn’t missed the chance to dunk on their “terrible” skills. While cheating has pretty much always been prevalent in Call of Duty, things have gotten worse over the last few years following the introduction of the Warzone battle royale. Activision have been active in its fight against hackers, launching the Ricochet anti-cheat system, constantly dishing out bans, and shutting down a number of notorious cheat-selling websites. Even though Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has only been out for a short while, cheaters have already been able to infiltrate it with wall hacks and aim bots. Some are happy to broadcast the fact they cheat to the world too, but the CoD community is more than happy to roast them when things go astray. Modern Warfare 2 TikToker openly streams with cheats That has happened to one TikToker, Synfuelss, who has been streaming games of Domination in MW2 with wall hacks and an aim bot clearly on display. 100 Thieves’ JoshChx shared a clip of the TikToker’s less-than-impressive gameplay, showing that even with cheats in their back pocket, they still lacked game sense and were still being gunned down by enemy foes. The clip has picked up around 1 million views at the time of writing, with the CoD community coming together to roast the TikToker in question. “That’s the ultimate time to quit video games forever and ask for forgiveness,” quipped one player. “Bros movement and centering is TERRIBLE LMAO,” added another. “It blows my mind that people can be that bad with wall hacks,” commented another. Plenty of players questioned why the account hadn’t been banned, given they were using cheats so openly. Though, others suggested that the stream was looping and just advertising the hacks. Even though they had cheats, and managed to scoop up over 55 kills, the TikToker’s squad were still on the losing end of the match – which happened a few times over the course of their stream.

  • Terminal confirmed as new CoD Mobile map in first Season 10 teaser – Dexerto

Terminal confirmed as new CoD Mobile map in first Season 10 teaser ActivisionThe Call of Duty Mobile devs have dropped their first teaser for Season 10 and it confirms that Terminal is finally making its arrival in the map pool. Ever since releasing back in October of 2019, CoD Mobile has taken some of the most popular maps, weapons, and characters from previous Call of Duty titles and put them into one huge melting pot. There are maps weapons stretching back to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, with Black Ops, Modern Warfare 2, and even CoD: World War II thrown into the mix. Even though Season 9, which is all in on the WWII theme, is in full swing, some fans have already been looking to the future and hoping to get some early details. Now, the CoD Mobile devs have dropped their first teaser for the upcoming Season 10, and it confirms the arrival of Terminal. That’s right, Modern Warfare 2’s iconic map – which has been on the CoD Mobile test server since before Season 9 – is finally coming in Season 10. “Attention passengers, Flight #: 83764625 is now boarding!” the PlayCODMobile Twitter account posted on August 29, with a photo of the main building in Terminal covered in rain attached. They added that the map is “coming to COD Mobile in the next season,” though the theme and other details about new content are still under wraps, at least for now anyway. https://twitter.com/PlayCODMobile/status/1299738583197048832 When Terminal first appeared on the test server, some fans did think that it was coming in Season 9, however, it didn’t exactly fit the theme when that was first leaked. The devs eventually confirmed that wasn’t happening, but told fans to keep an eye on future updates. With it now coming in Season 10, it’s safe to assume that the theme will be a bit more modern-day than Season 9 but we’ll just have to wait and see as to what the devs have up their sleeve.

  • Terminal and Shipment coming to CoD Mobile in future update – Dexerto

Terminal and Shipment coming to CoD Mobile in future update Infinity Ward[jwplayer fQfYV77d]Call of Duty: Mobile is getting two more Modern Warfare-centric maps in future updates as both Terminal and Shipment have hit the public test server. Ever since being released back in October of 2019, Call of Duty: Mobile has given CoD fans a platform to play some of their favorite maps and mode while using a number of classic weapons. Games like Call of Duty 4 and Black Ops 2 are represented, but the focus has been on Modern Warfare 2 recently. Following the Season 8 update, CoD Mobile players were given the keys to Highrise as the fan-favorite map was introduced into multiplayer. Boneyard is also available in the mobile game, and it appears as if the popular MW2 maps will soon be joined by others from the series. Call of Duty YouTuber HawksNest noted that in the most recent update to the public test server, both Terminal and Shipment were added as being available to try out in different multiplayer modes. If you’re expecting changes, or to see the most recent version of Shipment that is currently available in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, don’t worry too much. Both maps come with their original layouts but Shipment has CoD: WWII theming. That means that, yes, you can sit with a sniper in Terminal and gun down unexpecting enemies who are trying to cross the hallway of danger or get down the big orange slide from the open side of the plane. With the maps being tested on the public test server, their official introductions to the game might not be all that far away. Though, the Gulag was tested prior to the start of season seven and was introduced a ways after its testing. The CoD Mobile developers have not, at the time of writing, said anything about their possible arrival so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

  • Tensions rise as iFerg challenges Dr Disrespect to $100K CoD Mobile 1v1 – Dexerto

Tensions rise as iFerg challenges Dr Disrespect to $100K CoD Mobile 1v1 Twitter, @drdisrespect / Instagram, @ifergytDr Disrespect’s drama with mobile gamers has ramped up, as a Call of Duty: Mobile player, Luke ‘iFerg’ Fergie, has challenged the “Two-Time” to a high-stakes 1v1 following the former’s comments on his community. As has been previously reported, Dr Disrespect, no stranger to stirring the pot, got under the mobile gaming community’s skin by roasting their hobby and, for some, their livelihood. In a spicy tweet, the Two-Time broke down his absurd PC setup to try and contrast how insignificant gaming on mobile is. After citing his “three state-of-the-art 1ms speed color-calibrated monitors” and “mouse that weighs literally nothing,” the Doc dropped an exclamation point by mentioning his $200,000 setup’s dollar figure. Then, he asked how anyone has “the guts to tell me mobile gaming is a serious thing?” That not-so-subtle jab at the rapidly growing community appears to have been taken seriously, as iFerg challenged Doc to a 1v1 on CoD Mobile for $100,000 (or, more appropriately, half of the price of the aforementioned PC setup). And that challenge has grown into a movement, causing some frustration to the Two-Time on his stream. What’s the problem Doc, Mobile players getting the better of you?@drdisrespect pic.twitter.com/It3B65kdDV — Ferg (@Ferg) November 27, 2020 Just a day after trolling the masses of mobile enthusiasts, Doc’s stream was hit with an incessant spree of commenters demanding that he “1v1 ferg” in chat. Seemingly in response to that wave of comments, Dr Disrespect’s temper seemed to flare up: “Now you guys are starting to piss me off. I was in a good mood, I really was.” Sharing that clip on Twitter, iFerg proceeded to comment that “members-only chat had to be enabled” while asking a simple, albeit pointed question: “What’s the problem, Doc, Mobile players getting the better of you?” While the Two-Time has yet to respond, iFerg and the mobile gaming community are most certainly not letting up. The troll must have hit a sore spot because the CoD Mobile player has continued to lay out rules for the challenge. Originally specifying that Doc would get to duel on his expensive PC while iFerg would play on his mobile device, the challenger continued in a Twitter reply to explain that the challenge would be played without any use of aim assist. While Doc’s original comments were likely in jest and to provoke some sort of reaction, he may have gotten more than he bargained for. Now one simply has to wonder if the gaming community will get to watch one of these confident gamers lose $100,000.

  • Temperrr explains why FaZe Clan “wouldn’t exist” without OpTic Gaming – Dexerto

Temperrr explains why FaZe Clan “wouldn’t exist” without OpTic Gaming As the pioneers behind two of the most legendary and prestigious organizations in esports, OpTic’s Hector ‘H3CZ‘ Rodriguez and FaZe Clan’s Thomas ‘Temperrr’ Oliviera reveal how the two teams likely wouldn’t exist as they do today, without the other. Both OpTic and FaZe Clan share their origin story in Call of Duty sniping. Once fierce rivals on YouTube, battling each other for the best sniping highlights and montages, the organizations would go on to venture into other forms of competitive gaming, entertainment and merchandise brands. Perhaps unlike any other esports organizations, OpTic and FaZe cultivated a ‘lifestyle’ around their teams, players and content creators, taking the medium of gaming entertainment to the next level. Despite their historic rivalry, however, Temperrr admits that there would likely be no FaZe Clan had it not been for OpTic Gaming, when discussing the org’s history on H3CZ’ eavesdrop podcast. “If you guys weren’t around, FaZe wouldn’t have existed,” the FaZe co-owner explained. “We looked at (OpTic) like ‘oh, wow, this is possible, we can make a sniping team,’ you guys made it happen first.” H3CZ explained that the idea behind the ‘snipers only’ team was actually put forward by his younger brother, Pedro ‘TUMORS’ Rodriguez. Timestamp at 33:00 minutes for mobile users. Temperrr reminisced on the first time he truly realized the potential of FaZe and sniping in general after ‘Illcams 5’ – the organization’s acclaimed montage series. Read More: The Fall of OpTic Gaming – He compared the format and appeal of a trickshotting montage to that of skateboarding montages, and the massive audience they also had on YouTube. Although both FaZe and OpTic still produce sniping and trickshotting content, it now takes somewhat of a backseat to their other ventures. Both organizations have admittedly not had the best 2019’s so far, with OpTic being bought out by Immortals Gaming Club in a controversial takeover which has soured fan sentiment, and FaZe Clan troubled with controversy over famed Fortnite pro Tfue, and his contract issues. Despite these issues, both remain as two of the most popular and beloved brands in esports and gaming at large, and have cemented their legacy – no matter what the future holds. Temp slams Slacked for being a “toxic leader” and causing Karma to retire Slacked – Twitter / Temp – TwitterAn intense Twitter exchange broke out between Call of Duty League pros Donovan ‘Temp’ Laroda and Josiah ‘Slacked’ Berry after the latter posted a tweet that appeared to be negative towards some of his Seattle Surge teammates. Some would say that player feuds are a staple of the competitive Call of Duty culture, and Temp, one of the more outspoken CoD pros of his generation, has been involved in several over the years, the latest one being against Slacked. It all started on June 8, when Slacked tweeted out a photo of a scoreboard from a scrim match between Seattle Surge and Toronto Ultra, saying that their practice sessions have been “diabolical” (disgracefully bad or unpleasant). The caption seemed to highlight the poor performances of Nicholas ‘Proto’ Maldonado and Casey ‘Pandur’ Romano, who were at the bottom of the scoreboard and playing noticeably worse than the rest of the team. He tweeted this knowing that neither player is nearly as experienced or established as the other three veterans on the roster. In fact, they both started the 2020 season as substitutes; Pandur was promoted to replace Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt while Proto is taking the spot of the recently-retired Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow. He deleted the tweet quickly after posting, but not before it caught the attention of Temp, who decided to take some shots at his Seattle counterpart for what he felt was an unwarranted public humiliation of his own teammates. Temp called Slacked a “toxic leader” and even went as far as to accuse him of being part of the reason why Karma retired because he “couldn’t stand playing” with him anymore. Even London Royal Ravens’ Matthew ‘Skrapz’ Marshall chimed in to say that he “expected better” from the Surge captain. Slacked, of course, defended himself by retorting with his own insults, claiming that Temp was being hypocritical since he himself has thrown teammates under the bus when it comes to tournaments, a declaration that the Subliners star called false. He also brought up the fact that the Donny still remains without a major tournament victory, a jibe that many others have used when feuding with him and one that he’s apparently come to terms with. That seems to be the end of it, for now, as neither player continued the back-and-forth after Slacked intentionally misspelled Temp’s name, which many could easily read between the lines. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to see these two square off for quite a while, as the next event where both teams will be attending is the London Home Series, on July 17-19. Related: Temp – The CoD Prodigy chasing his first Championship Slacked and his Seattle teammates will have more important things to worry about in the immediate future, however, as they’re one of the eight teams that will be competing in the upcoming CDL Minnesota. Their performances have been far from good so far this season and, considering that they’re coming off the huge retirement news from Karma, not to mention the fact that this next tournament is stacked with top teams, not many are expecting the Surge to make much noise.

  • Temp mocks Luminosity duo Brack and FormaL in heated exchange: “you f***ing shit can” – Dexerto

Temp mocks Luminosity duo Brack and FormaL in heated exchange: “you f***ing shit can” Twitch / Call of DutyProfessional Call of Duty player Donovan ‘Temp‘ Laroda has hit out at Luminosity’s Carson ‘Brack’ Newberry, labelling him a “fucking shit can” in a war of words on social media. The Splyce pro first responded to a seemingly innocuous post from Brack on July 9, where the LG player had asked whether a Nighthawk router would help him play like ‘Huke Skywalker’ (referring to Temp’s Splyce teammate, Cuyler ‘Huke’ Garland.) Temp’s reply, “you fucking suck brotha man” didn’t immediately draw a response from Brack, but when a fan reminded him that Luminosity had beaten Temp and Co. during their most recent League match, Brack weighed in: “That’s what I was thinking.” Black Ops 4 season, while dismissing LG’s win over Splyce as little more than a meaningless league match. Loroda also suggested Brack was guilty of ‘baiting’ his teammates for the sake of his personal stats – an issue 100 Thieves’ star Austin ‘SlasheR’ Liddicoat was vocal about days prior. “LEGIT ALL TIME DAMAGE RECORD vs your garbage ass at an EVENT,” Temp wrote. “Stop baiting your team and (challenge) someone for once you fucking shit can.” FormaL‘ Piper came to his defense, but Temp went on to claim that their win over Splyce was only granted because he wasn’t trying, instead ‘throwing them a bone’. Temp argued that in his younger years as a ‘developing’ player, he was more easily beaten by top pros, but is now in his prime, and even a World Champion like FormaL “cannot fuck with me”. He also accused Brack of starting the confrontation with his jab at Huke over internet connection and the use of a router: “his fan boy ass trash can shouldn’t (have) said shit.” The debate wasn’t over though, as FormaL attempted to nuetralize the situation by suggesting Brack wasn’t being serious in his initial post, and that Temp had overreacted. Temp wasn’t hearing it though, doubling-down that Brack was “trash” – and that FormaL would eventually agree “when you drop him in a few months”. Responding, Temp continued to lay on insults towards Brack, while suggesting his father looked ‘weak’ in his attempt to defend his son. Keeping it short, Temp fired back by stating plainly that he possesses ’10 times the talent’ of Brack. Play-In tournament. Temp’s Splyce are already qualified for the $1.25 million event, with a whopping $500,000 up for grabs for first place.

  • Temp explains Splyce’s roster changes in hilarious CWL Pro League interview – Dexerto

Temp explains Splyce’s roster changes in hilarious CWL Pro League interview MLGIn an extraordinary post-match interview at the CWL,Call Of Duty player in the world right now! Splyce announced on Monday, June 3 that they had officially moved Accuracy to their substitute position, bringing in Nick ‘Nolson’ Nolson to replace him in Week 10 of the CWL Pro League, starting with their match against Team Envy. Temp couldn’t help but grin as caster Clint ‘Maven’ Evans commented that the team looked like they were enjoying playing together again. Victory over EnVy “was the most fun I’ve had playing CoD in years,” admitted the player, before revealing that personality clashes had been affecting their game. Temp said: “That was the biggest problem, Gameplay-wise, we knew what to do. We created how to play this game, and then we stopped doing what we created! “That just shows that we hated each other, simple as that!” Temp thinks he’s the world’s best CoD player Temp was more than happy to discuss his own incredible performance, which saw him finish the match with a 1.26 kill/death ratio. Asked by Jonathan ‘Pacman’ Tucker why he switched from an ICR to a Maddox, the American had the casters in stitches as he ranted about how powerful the weapon was. Temp shouted: “Did you see that? That’s why! That gun is broken bro! You need an entry? I’m there! It’s the most overpowered gun I’ve ever seen! You don’t get recoil!” Read More: Censor flames Crimsix after announcing he wants to compete again – “You couldn’t do sh*t” – Proving that modesty ism’t one of his strong suits, Temp appeared to be shocked to be even asked whether he was the best player in the world. “Yes! Temp joked: “He was getting absolutely turned on with the Maddox, I don’t know how bro,” to more howls of laughter from the analyst desk. Splyce’s win over Team Envy saw them take outright fourth position from their opponents, moving to an 8-8 record for their season overall. The team, including the ultra-confident Temp, will be back in action on June 5 against Spanish squad Heretics.

  • Temp Drops Yet More Intel About the FormaL to Luminosity Gaming Rumors – Dexerto

Temp Drops Yet More Intel About the FormaL to Luminosity Gaming Rumors Echo Fox’s Donny ‘Temp’ Laroda seems to have let slip another clue about OpTic Gaming’s Matthew ‘FormaL’ Piper and his possible destination in rostermania. If there is one thing that Temp is better at than racking up kills on Call of Duty, it is accidentally leaking information about Call of Duty roster changes when he’s streaming. The 18 year old is one of the hottest prospects in the professional Call of Duty scene and has been making waves ever since his return to the scene after a forced hiatus due to the 18+ rule for CWL events. As a player that is constantly in eights and pick-up game lobbies, Temp tends to hear just about every roster rumor before anyone else and that certainly seems to have been the case during the post-CWL Seattle transfer window. Read More: Arcitys Gets Dragged Into Rostermania Drama as Codburner Leaks More Evidence of OpTic Changes – Unfortunately the young star is quickly discovering how easy it can be to slip up on stream and reveal information that is supposed to be kept secret – a skill that most of his colleagues had to learn a number of years ago. Of course, for us fans these slip ups are perfectly welcome as they help us to piece together the goings on behind the scenes before they become official. During a stream on May 2nd Temp did just that when he let something slip that all but confirmed the FormaL to Luminosity Gaming trade. While Temp never finishes his sentence, it seems pretty clear that he was about to say “that’s your teammate” as he killed FormaL during the eights game. This in isolation wouldn’t mean much but evidence continues to roll in on an almost daily basis which points towards a trade between OpTic and Luminosity for FormaL and Sam ‘Octane’ Larew. With Season 2 of the CWL, and the end of the transfer window, just around the corner, it should only be a matter of days before we find out for certain where everyone is ending up.

  • TeePee teases big update after announcing OpTic Gaming departure – Dexerto

TeePee teases big update after announcing OpTic Gaming departure Call of Duty coach Tyler ‘TeePee’ Polchow has teased a big update coming in 2020 as he announced that he is leaving OpTic Gaming as head coach in favor of pastures new. The status of TeePee has been very much up in the air since the end of the Black Ops 4 season, with many believing that he would be following Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez and Seth ‘Scump’ Abner to NRG Esports to take up the top coaching position at the Chicago Huntsmen. The longer that this move wasn’t announced, though, it started to become clear that perhaps TeePee wasn’t going to be coaching the Chicago Call of Duty franchise and that he had other plans in the pipeline. In a tweet posted on November 24, Teep confirmed that this may very well be the case, announcing that he is no longer operating under the OpTic Gaming banner but saying that he is “making some moves for 2020.” “Overdue, but I am not with OpTic anymore,” he stated. “Making some moves for 2020, and hopefully will have a big update soon. Watching matches next to the GreenWall for 2 years will always be a cherished memory for me. I learned and improved a lot. Thank you for changing my life.” Overdue, but I am not with OpTic anymore. Thank you for changing my life. 💚 pic.twitter.com/XUrHdnFEDK — TeeP (@TylerTeeP) November 24, 2019 Most players and coaches have been locked in on franchise teams, so if TeePee is indeed still coaching a team, it’s being left very late to make the announcement. Most fans seem to think he will start streaming full-time in the new year – he became very successful on Twitch with the launch of Blackout in October 2018, becoming a top streamer of the game and accruing a loyal subscriber base. His work throughout the year gradually became a lot more of a busy mix between coaching duties and streaming as much as possible, trying to balance success in each. We’ll have to wait to see what TeePee’s next move is, and judging by this tweet we may have to wait until 2020 to find out. Whether it’s streaming or coaching, TeePee has proved that he is proficient at achieving success in anything he puts his mind to, so expect him to go even bigger in 2020 than he has since his career started.

  • TeePee reveals insane number of times he’s lost to Warzone cheaters – Dexerto

TeePee reveals insane number of times he’s lost to Warzone cheaters Instagram: tylerteepPopular Warzone streamer Tyler ‘TeePee’ Polchow has revealed the insane number of times he’s lost to cheaters in Warzone — and it’s more than many players have even dropped into Verdansk. Cheating and hacking has become arguably one of the biggest issues in Warzone, if not the biggest. Players like NICKMERCS have refused to play tournaments thanks to the growing issue, while others, such as Vikkstar, have said they’re taking a break from the game altogether. The situation has grown so out of control that Activision had to come out with a statement on February 2 confirming that there is actually an anti-cheat in place and that they’ve recently banned 60,000 cheaters in the game. The issue is, as one hacker revealed, they can simply make as many accounts as they want and keep coming back. If anyone knows the severity of this, it’s TeePee. With the issue becoming ever more exacerbated over time, TeeP revealed that one of his mods actually counts every time he dies to cheaters. After noticing that the stim glitch was back once again, he took to Twitter to vent his frustration and reveal what the number currently stands at — and it will blow your mind. “One of my mods tracks losses to cheaters since the start of WZ,” he said. “Total of 1,182 losses (this total includes the following: stim glitcher, wallers, aim botters, etc that are obvious).” Since the stim glitch is back for the 6th time I figured it was a good time to tweet this. One of my mods tracks losses to cheaters since the start of WZ. Total of 1,182 losses (this total includes the following: stim glitcher, wallers, aim botters, etc that are obvious) lol. — TeeP (@TylerTeeP) February 2, 2021 1,182 losses to cheaters is a truly insane number, and it’s difficult to fathom the level of frustration TeeP and other players feel at this. What’s worse is that these are only the “obvious” instances that the former Call of Duty pro lost to cheaters — it could be a whole lot more when you consider those that managed to hide their cheats better. With the current uproar surrounding the cheating situation in Warzone, we’ll likely see Activision elevate their actions against it very soon for the good of the game and its playerbase. Until then, though, it’s not looking great.

  • TeePee explains why he quit coaching and didn’t join Chicago Huntsmen – Dexerto

TeePee explains why he quit coaching and didn’t join Chicago Huntsmen Twitter: TylerTeePEx-Call of Duty pro and coach Tyler ‘TeePee’ Polchow explained why he chose to become a CoD analyst rather than join the Chicago Huntsmen as a coach. Call of Duty fans will no doubt have heard of TeePee, who most recently acted as the coach for the legendary organization, OpTic Gaming, as well as having an impressive playing career himself, becoming world champion in 2014 and playing for the likes of Evil Geniuses and Team EnVyUs. The American chose not to join a team heading into the all-new Call of Duty League and had remained on the sidelines until Jan 2020. However, he then accepted a role as an analyst and has finally revealed why he didn’t join the Huntsmen or any other team. Tyler was joined by Clint ‘Maven’ Evans on Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez’s Eavesdrop Podcast where the duo spoke to the OpTic legend about a variety of topics, with TeePee’s choice of career being one of the biggest talking points. “The reason I’m not coaching right now is that those days were absolutely brutal. I’d start streaming at 9 AM and we’d get done with scrims at 11 PM, those are long days to do for 6 months in a row, barely taking a day off.” Additionally, TeePee’s stream has been growing and he decided to work on the ‘Breaktime Boys’ – a brand he had created focusing on streaming 9-5, which would give fans at work something to tune in to during their breaks. Of course, Polchow will still appear as an analyst for CoD events and be a huge part of the community, even if he isn’t on a team. He may even get the competitive itch once again and decide to make a move in the future, but for now, fans will be able to catch him either behind the desk at events, or on his own stream.

  • TeePee details why OpTic was “not good enough” in CWL Pro League cross-division matches – Dexerto

TeePee details why OpTic was “not good enough” in CWL Pro League cross-division matches Call of Duty team’s performance after CWL Pro League cross divisional stage, despite finishing with a 3-1 record. OpTic Gaming were looking to be one of the favorite teams this year in the CWL Pro League after signing rookies, Brandon ‘Dashy‘ Otell and Thomas ‘TJHaLy‘ Haly along with the return of three-time world champion, Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow. Despite coming out strong in the first event of the year and taking first place at CWL Vegas, the CoD team has had their struggles recently with a poor performance in CWL Fort Worth and have had some very close games in the CWL Pro League. Although the team finished the week 3-1 during cross divisional play, OpTic Gaming’s coach, TeePee, has not been happy with the team’s latest string of results after a tough week for them had three of their series’ ending in game five’s alongside a 3-0 defeat in a hyped match-up vs 100 Thieves. In Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez’ latest vlog, H3CZ asked TeePee what his thoughts were on his team’s performance at cross divisional stage of the CWL Pro League, to which TeePee replied, “not good enough, 3-1, but man they pissed me off.” He then went on to say that although the five game series’ allowed for more SnD practice, that “they’ve got to listen more” in order to make the game win’s more convincing and return the team to their usual championship contending form. Topic starts at 6:08 for mobile users. Their pool has now also officially been confirmed, as OpTic find themselves alongside Reciprocity, 100 Thieves and Enigma6 in group A. OpTic Gaming’s Call of Duty roster will now have a month break following the cross divisional stage to prepare for CWL London on May 3. • TeeP reveals the top Warzone sniper rifle players should be using on Fortune’s Keep – Dexerto

TeeP reveals the top Warzone sniper rifle players should be using on Fortune’s Keep Instagram: TylerTeePTeeP is one of the finest minds in all of Call of Duty and the former World Champ thinks he has the perfect sniper build to rack up the kills on Fortune’s Keep. Tyler ‘TeeP’ Polchow came up in the world of professional CoD before hitting the battle royale world hard in Blackout and has only continued his reign of terror in Warzone. His reputation as one of the smartest players in the game (built through his impressive playing career and a shorter time as a coach) is well-earned, and when he gives in-game tips you can count on them to be spot-on. This time he’s taken aim at Fortune’s Keep and shared what he thinks is the final boss of sniper loadouts for the fast-paced map. TeeP’s sniper loadout for Fortune’s Keep While it might not seem like the ideal choice at first, Polchow shows why the Modern Warfare Kar98k still has what it takes to be a dominant force on a map that’s not as big as Caldera. In a July 19 video on his channel, TeeP went berserk with the iconic quick scope machine, dropping 21 kills and nabbing a victory without breaking a sweat. For anyone who wants to test it out for themselves, this is the exact loadout that the big-brained former pro used to get the job done: Barrel: Singuard Custom 27.6″ – Optic: Sniper Scope – Laser: Tac Laser – Rear Grip: Stippled Grip – Perk: Sleight of Hand – Everything about this class is built to get its speed up but it can still pick up easy one-shots if you’re accurate enough to lock in those headshots. Like most setups on FK and Rebirth Island, this beast is best complemented by a good SMG, so throw on your favorite sub and hit the ground with a new level of confidence.

  • TeeP reveals surprise Cold War AR for high-kill Warzone games on Fortune’s Keep – Dexerto

TeeP reveals surprise Cold War AR for high-kill Warzone games on Fortune’s Keep Twitter: TylerTeePTeeP was already one of the best players in Call of Duty well before he switched to Warzone but he’s been on a tour of Fortune’s Keep lately and claims he’s found the best gun for high-kill games on the pirate-themed hideaway. Tyler ‘TeeP’ Polchow brings the pain in every match of Warzone that he plays and Fortune’s Keep has provided a new arena for the well-decorated veteran to takeover. While he’s already revealed the best sniper to use for anyone looking to get a little bit of FaZe Clan-style action in around the halls of this fast-paced beast, he’s now letting other players in on the secret to consistently dropping 20+ kills per map, and he claims it’s all thanks to one gun. TeeP claims Cold War AK is the perfect gun for Fortune’s Keep The Cold War AK hasn’t quite been the talk of the town in Season 4, largely being replaced by standouts like the NZ-41 and the KG M40, but for Polchow it’s the perfect blend of speed and power for a primary weapon on the game’s newest map. “I’m having a lot of fun with this gun right now,” the Warzone demon announced at the end of a 29-kill win. “It is absolutely ripping people.” He doesn’t go into depth on the attachments this time around, but that’s just fine. We’ve got our own build that’s worth checking out for anyone that doesn’t know where to start when picking this old-favorite back up. Fortune’s Keep is still young, and the meta for the map is very much still developing, but when you play as much Call of Duty as TeeP, consistent results are the name of the game and this is the one that’s getting the job done for the time being.

In exclusive interviews with Dexerto, CDL Pros Donovan ‘Temp’ Laroda, and Zack’ Drazah’ Jordan explained why Ranked Play is “huge” for the competitive community. The mode brings CDL pros closer together and even brought a few former pros out of the woodwork. CoD legend Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow hasn’t been involved in competitive CoD since Black Ops: Cold War, yet MW2 Ranked Play rekindled his love for the franchise. Former OpTic Gaming teammate, Teep also returned to CoD with the introduction of Ranked Play, and he is back and better than ever. • TeeP reveals crucial Warzone audio change that every player should make – Dexerto

TeeP reveals crucial Warzone audio change that every player should make Activision / TeePTyler ‘TeeP’ Polchow is one of the most accomplished players across all of Call of Duty. There are few names that can match his Warzone resume and he’s got a hot footstep audio setting change that every player could benefit from making. Not many people can claim to be experts over an entire franchise, but TeeP is one of the rare few who can. As a former World Champion in the CWL era of professional CoD and premiere name in both Blackout and Warzone, the thirty year old is still on top of his game. He’s always been one to teach other players how to get to the top, and his latest audio setting tip is a big one for anyone looking to get an edge over the competition. TeeP’s big Warzone audio change makes it easier to hear sneaky enemies As revealed in a video on his channel, TeeP claims the key to getting ahead lies in switching around what parts of the audio that you’re prioritizing in game. When a viewer pointed out that the streamer’s game sounded different than normal, Polchow revealed exactly what he’s doing differently these days. “I’m on Boost Low and I changed my hitmarkers… I feel like I notice more when people jump down or parachute and hit the ground. Not so much footsteps, but when they drop down and hit the ground,” he said. For the uninitiated, he’s referring to the Audio Mix setting in the Warzone menu which allows players to select what kinds of noises get amplified into their headphones or speakers. By boosting low frequencies, the former champ feels like he’s getting more bang for his buck when it comes to picking up on incoming threats. It might not seem like the most important detail in the world, but even the slightest advantage can make a big difference, so highlighting key noises might be enough to save your life in a tense situation.

  • TeeP reveals “cheat code” Lachmann Sub loadout for MW2 Ranked Play – Dexerto

TeeP reveals “cheat code” Lachmann Sub loadout for MW2 Ranked Play Infinity WardFormer Call of Duty World Champion Tyler ‘TeeP’ Polchow explained why the Lachmann Sub (MP5) might be better than the Vaznev 9-K in Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play. Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play pumped some much-needed excitement into the multiplayer scene. Ranked Play is a competitive game mode that uses the Call of Duty League ruleset and features a comprehensive skill rating system. Unfortunately, uneven matchmaking and hackers plague the game mode. Some community members have also raised concerns over the game mode’s weapon selection. Ranked Play restricts most of the game’s gun pool, but the jury is still out for which gun works best. Players fell in love with the ISO Hemlock, but Infinity Ward quickly banned the controversial AR. Most CDL Pros use the TAQ-56 or Vaznev 9-K, but TeeP believes the Lachmann Sub deserves more attention for players attempting to level up their game in Ranked Play. TeeP dominates Ranked Play with the Lachmann Sub (MP5) The Season 2 update nerfed the Vaznev 9-K, but XclusiveAce revealed the downgrade was “meaningless,” as it only slightly reduced damage over distance. Most Ranked Play warriors still use the powerful SMG, but TeeP displayed the Lachmann Sub’s devastating power. Modern Warfare 2019 competitive players will be familiar with the Lachmann Sub (MP5.) The speedy SMG was the go-to CDL weapon, standing toe-to-toe with any short-range option in MW2 again. TeeP tried the Lachmann Sub instead of the Vaznev in Ranked Play and was shocked by its effectiveness. “Wow, it’s nasty; this is the best class. I like the Lachmann; it’s fun.” Here is TeeP’s full Lachman Sub loadout Muzzle: Bruen Pendulum – Underbarrel: XTEN Nexus Grip – Magazine: 60-Round Mag – Rear Grip: Lachmann TCG-10 – Stock: LM Stockless Mod – Give this loadout a try if you are not a massive fan of the Vaznev 9-K.

  • TeeP & Merk question Warzone kill race formats after $100K tournament – Dexerto

TeeP & Merk question Warzone kill race formats after $100K tournament Activision / Twitter, @TylerTeeP, @JoeDeLucaFollowing Atlanta FaZe’s $100,000 Call of Duty: Warzone tournament, popular community figures and former CoD pros TeeP and Merk have both criticized the kill race format and called for future big-money events to abandon it in favor of more competitive options. The Atlanta FaZe $100K Gold Rush tournament was the biggest Warzone event of the year and, despite handing out gold bars worth over $50,000 each, it ended somewhat unceremoniously. Compared to traditional bracket formats, the event was a timed kill race that drew numerous criticisms over lobby luck. In the Gold Rush, each duo got five hours to play as many games as they wanted and compile their five highest-scoring games by the end of the event. This is in contrast to traditional bracket formats, like 2v2 Quad tourneys, which pit teams against each other in shared lobbies. Following accusations that JoeWo and Stukawaki won the event because they got to abuse easier lobbies on a Hawaii host, Tyler ‘TeeP’ Polchow and Joe ‘Merk’ DeLuca have argued against the kill races. Having actually competed in the event, TeeP was more colorfully adamant about abolishing kill races: “That format’s garbage. Kill races need to go away forever. The same little group of people performs dramatically better than the rest of the field and it’s bulls**t.” Noting that the format lends itself to some people ending up with easier lobbies, TeeP points out the “kill discrepancy,” claims that “people finesse their way,” and ultimately calls it unfair for those reasons. While TeeP doesn’t address specific ways people can finesse the format, there are numerous examples from earlier tournaments. In this one, JoeWo and Stukawaki were accused of using Stu’s Hawaii host for easier lobbies, while former events saw players accused of skewing SBMM by tanking games in Plunder prior to competing. When asked about kill races, Merk was similarly critical: “They’re the worst format … they stink.” But the pro-turned-caster also explained why the format makes sense from an organizer’s perspective. Unlike highly competitive double-elimination brackets, Merk mentions that kill races are normally shorter events and allow more variety in invited content creators. Ultimately, though, both Merk and TeeP agree that kill races are an unideal format for big-money Warzone events. While fans appear to be split on the issue, and some players prefer shorter runtimes, these critiques generally follow the pro consensus. In the future, it will be interesting to find out if bigger events shift to 2v2 Quads or other formats that nullify lobby RNG and manipulation — such as custom lobbies and Odd Man Outs.

  • TeeP joins Envy as a Warzone content creator – Dexerto

TeeP joins Envy as a Warzone content creator Team EnvyTeam Envy has announced that retired CoD pro and CDL analyst Tyler ‘TeeP’ Polchow has joined the esports org as a Warzone content creator and streamer. As a pro player, TeeP enjoyed one of the longest, most consistently successful careers in top-level professional CoD. A World Champion with 18 Major wins to his name, he’s also known for forming half of the longest-running duo in the history of the game’s pro scene with Patrick “Aches” Price. The signing with Envy is somewhat of a homecoming for the 28-year-old, who competed for the organization’s team from 2015-2016. TeeP is one of the most well-known names in the CoD scene and has been keeping busy most recently as a desk analyst for the CDL, in addition to regularly streaming. “Tyler is a legend in the Call of Duty community, and we’re thrilled to bring him back to Envy,” Andrew Peterman, Chief Content Officer at Envy Gaming said. “He’s developed a fanbase as a competitor, host, and now content creator. It’s a perfect fit for our organization given our roots in Call of Duty and recent World Championship.” One person who was happy to see TeeP back on Envy was the team’s founder Mike ‘hastr0’ Rufail, who tweeted out “my man is back and he’s out grinding everyone. Envy TeeP never sounded so good,” after the news broke. My man is back and he’s out grinding everyone. Envy Teep never sounded so good. — Mike Rufail (@hastr0) April 5, 2021 TeeP will now be streaming to his more than 600,000 followers on Twitch under the Envy brand, and will also participate in events and content series as a part of the org. He’ll also represent Envy in major Call of Duty: Warzone competitions and tournaments. He joins Envy just as the hugely popular battle royale title from Activision celebrates its one-year anniversary, and shortly after the mode had a 1980’s version of its Verdank map supposedly leaked. Warzone seems set for a big 2021, and by the looks of it TeeP will be right there, repping Envy along the way.

  • TeeP & Crowder call out Modern Warfare devs over “bulls**t” competitive – Dexerto

TeeP & Crowder call out Modern Warfare devs over “bulls**t” competitive Infinity WardSome Call of Duty League insiders don’t think Infinity Ward or Activision has done enough to support Modern Warfare’s competitive and pro scene since the latest game in the series has come out. On the post-Seattle episode of the Hardpoints podcast, Atlanta FaZe head coach James “Crowder” Crowder and his co-hosts discussed the amount of support, or lack thereof, that Modern Warfare has seen on the competitive side of things from developer Infinity Ward. Some of their biggest issues were the absence of any weapon tuning since the game was released, no spawn updates, and even the “culture” of the current game. Crowder himself called out devs for still not addressing the MP5, which was “nerfed” in a January 28 patch, but is considered insanely strong by the community and capable of outgunning even the M4A1 at long range, which obviously shouldn’t happen as one’s submachine gun and the other an assault rifle. “But once again we haven’t had a weapon tuning, we haven’t had anything, since the beginning of the game, man,” the Atlanta coach lamented. He’s far from the only one who has a problem with the MP5 either. The video mentioned by Crowder of Seattle Surge player Sam ‘Octane’ Larew demonstrating the SMG takes one less shot to down players (5) than the M4 (6) at long-range came out at the beginning of March, so it’s not as if this is a new issue. The MP5 is better across the map than an M4……………. pic.twitter.com/YQfdQlIt1M — Sam “Octane” Larew (@OctaneSam) March 8, 2020 A lack of any significant spawn point updates from devs has also plagued Modern Warfare maps since the game’s release, and former pro player, Joe ‘MerK’ Deluca, who now casts for the CDL, definitely isn’t the only one feeling pessimistic about any spawn changes coming, now that we’re more than half a year in. “We haven’t had anything, I’m going to say it on air as much as I can,” MerK claimed. “This all comes down to: this was our first franchised league, and everybody’s hopes were much higher than in previous years.” On top of that, Tyler ‘TeePee’ Polchow, who has played, cast, and coached in CoD esports, called the support Modern Warfare had received on these issues and more “unacceptable” for the CDL in its current state when compared to other recent Call of Duty games. “I’ve had experience with Infinity Ward. It’s different now, the culture is different when it comes to this type of stuff. From what we got in previous IW games to what we got now, it’s unacceptable for what this league is. It’s bulls**t, I’ll say it.” Hopefully, Treyarch will be able to address player’s issues with their 2020 Call of Duty game (rumored to be set during the Cold War), that is, if Infinity Ward doesn’t manage to address player’s longstanding issues with Modern Warfare between now and the end of the season.

  • TeeP conviced new Warzone SMG should be at the top of Season 5’s meta – Dexerto

TeeP conviced new Warzone SMG should be at the top of Season 5’s meta YouTube: H3CZTyler ‘TeeP’ Polchow consistently brings the heat in Warzone and after the Season 5 update, he believes there’s a new gun at the top of the meta. Warzone Season 5 is still in its early days and so the meta still hasn’t quite worked itself out. Many of the biggest streamers in the game are testing new loadouts and small adjustments to longtime favorites in order to make sense of the new landscape. As one of the most trusted names in the space, TeeP believes he’s found a winner in a new gun that he claims can outperform the best of the best. TeeP claims Warzone Season 5 SMG can outgun any other weapon In an August 28 video on his YouTube channel, TeeP claimed that the RA 225 should be the new meta secondary and provided a loadout for eager fans to try out for themselves. In order to bolster his argument, he absolutely shredded the Fortune’s Keep competition while using the gun as a backup to the Grau. He fell just short of winning the game, but his 29-kill performance speaks volumes about how good his build could potentially be. For anyone looking to give it a shot the next time they drop into Warzone, here’s the build to use as it currently stands: Recoil Booster – Urban Rapid 11″ – Slate Reflector – Urban Tac – SG998 Compact – Lengthened – 9mm 55 Round Drum – Granular Grip – Tight Grip – Quick – For those who haven’t unlocked the weapon yet, we’ve got a guide on how to do that here, and it doesn’t take long at all, so go knock out some levels in the battle pass and then let a former Call of Duty World Champion guide you to even more satisfying ‘Ws’ in Season 5.

  • TeeP blasts “terrible” Warzone 2 after losing to invisible player – Dexerto

TeeP blasts “terrible” Warzone 2 after losing to invisible player YouTube: H3CZFormer Call of Duty World Champion TeeP blasts Warzone 2 after placing 2nd in a Battle Royale match after dying to an invisible enemy. Warzone 2’s invisibility glitch problem has gotten out of hand in the two weeks that the game has been live and TeeP has seen enough. After surviving a tough lobby and racking up 17 kills along the way, he was in a prime position to clutch a match out for his team when he got lit up by an enemy he couldn’t see. The Warzone vet backed away and plated up but after another cursory glance around his environment, his teammate (Call of Duty League broadcaster Merk) confirmed that the bullets were coming from out of thin air. TeeP blasts Warzone 2 after dying to yet another invisible player TeeP still did his best to extend the game and confirm his suspicion, but as the gas encroached there wasn’t anything he could do to change the outcome. It only took a few seconds for the cheating squad to roll up on his new position and take him out. His frustration was immediately apparent and he didn’t waste words when venting it all out. “Alright, pull us out,” he said, through laughter. “Thank God we get some views on this game…it’s terrible. It’s so bad.” Those are some pretty sharp words coming from a veteran of the franchise, particularly one who has a record of defending Call of Duty for most of its flaws. He’s not the only streamer who is growing tired of the experience though, as names like Aydan and Dr. Disrespect have also chimed in on the state of the game and how they believe it’s a struggle to play.

  • TeeP admits he’s “worried” about Warzone 2 being rushed – Dexerto

TeeP admits he’s “worried” about Warzone 2 being rushed ActivisionWarzone 2 is weeks away from launching but Call of Duty content creator, Tyler “TeeP” Polchow, is worried for one specific reason. While CoD fans are busy delving into the Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer, the community is already looking toward Warzone 2. In fact, players have been tirelessly leveling up various weapons ready for the new installment in the popular battle royale mode. However, the launch of Modern Warfare 2 has been far from smooth. From frustrating visual glitches to annoying bugs that crash the game, there are certainly a number of issues that have marred the overall experience. With the Warzone 2 launch just weeks away, popular content creator TeeP is now worried about whether the game will actually be in a playable state. TeeP on Warzone 2 launch “Is Warzone 2 going to come out in a finished state because of DMZ, that’s what I’m worried about,” explained TeeP. “Did they spend enough time on DMZ, because of Warzone? With multiplayer, with Spec Ops, with Warzone, with DMZ – like Call of Duty just does this classic thing, where they just spread themselves so thin.” The new DMZ mode is perhaps the most ambitious project, which the developers have explained as being a “passion project” for the team. Unlike other modes in Warzone 2, DMZ will see players collect gear to keep in their inventory and utilize from match to match. Not much is known about the “extraction mode”, but it does seem to take inspiration from Escape From Tarkov. While this new CoD experience does sound exciting, TeeP believes it could lead to Warzone 2 feeling overly rushed. “I don’t want something that comes out in November, but isn’t in a good spot until March if that makes sense? Is it going to come out and is it going to feel rushed? That’s what I’m very worried about,” the streamer said. “When we played Warzone at Next, it felt very rushed and I’m just like ‘oh god, here we go again’, I’d rather just wait.” Whether Warzone 2 will release in a better state than Modern Warfare 2 remains to be seen, but for now, make sure you check out our Call of Duty page for all the latest news and updates.

You can find the full tournament recap, video higlights, and final placements below, and for more information about the tournament, including full team rosters, competitive structure, and more, make sure to visit our WorldGaming Black Ops 4 tournament hub. Full recap for WorldGaming Black Ops 4 tournament GROUP A The WorldGaming Black Ops 4 tournament featured eight teams split into two groups of four. In Group A, the two favorites FaZe Clan Black and Evil Geniuses were able to advance to the playoffs, while Nemesis and Team WaR were the odd teams out. Evil Geniuses won the group thanks to two 3-0 performances against Team WaR and FC Black respectively, while FC Black had to get a tight 3-2 victory over Team War to advance. Despite having won Group B, Cyclone were pretty much manhandled in the match, as FC Black swept them 3-0 to clinch a spot in the Grand Final. On the other side of the bracket, the heavyweight matchup between two tournament favorites ended with Yerr defeating Evil Geniuse 3-1, who finished tied for third with Cyclone. The game one Hardpoint on Frequency went pretty much how everyone expected – a tightly fought battle that saw FC Black win by the thin margin of 250-242. .@FaZeClan Black close out map one 250 – 242 vs #Yerr in GRAND FINALS Map 2: https://t.co/ZXYYVTWecC pic.twitter.com/qswNAIqd2S — WorldGaming Network (@WorldGaming) April 7, 2019 Yerr responded to the first map defeat with a resounding victory in the game two Search and Destroy on Arsenal, tying up the Grand Final score at one apiece. It was a pretty balanced effort for Yerr in the game, as four of the five players finished with at least six EKIA, two of whom had eight or more. With the Grand Final now tied, the game three Control on Frequency would prove to be a very pivotal match, and Yerr ended up taking the map 3-1 to push their opponents to the brink going into game four. • Team WaR owner explains why top CDL Challengers roster might be leaving – Dexerto

Team WaR owner explains why top CDL Challengers roster might be leaving Twitter: OfficialTeamWaROne of the most successful Call of Duty Challengers squads is looking for a new organization to represent as Team WaR’s owner has explained why keeping the roster under their banners just wasn’t possible. While the Call of Duty League’s amateur counterpart has franchise teams promoting prize pools of over $10,000 regularly throughout the season, one of the top Challengers teams has been forced to explore new options. As former world champions like Christopher ‘Parasite’ Duarte slam the new format, and highlight how Challengers is already failing due to the costs associated with backing any given lineup, Team WaR’s owner has explained why the org might be done with Call of Duty in 2020. Team WaR’s Challengers run saw them finish third out of 168 teams at the Launch Weekend Open in Minnesota, place fourth at the CDL London Open, and most recently, walk away with a first-place finish at the CDL Paris Open. Accumulatively, the squad earned a total of $31,000 in just a matter of months, but according to org owner Kevin ‘Surge’ Pichardo, the ends do not appear to justify the means as the team is now looking for a new place to call home. “The boys want to go to every tournament in North America. They just came out of a win so they definitely want to continue that run,” he explained throughout a bittersweet announcement on March 3. “But from an org standpoint, for us personally, it ‘s out of our realm. It’s not in our budget to fly them out to every event because it’s very costly when you’re flying over a UK team to the States.” CDL Free Agent Organization Announcement pic.twitter.com/ARz81ClpCV — Team WaR (@OfficialTeamWaR) March 3, 2020 With 13 international events lined up in the calendar year and only two of those upcoming events taking place in Europe, it’s a great deal of travel for the org to cover without reaping much return in the way of tournament winnings. “I proposed [to] them what we can offer them, it’s just a matter of if they find a better opportunity that will let them go to every tournament,” he explained. “I don’t want to hold the boys back and doing this is players first. I want the best for them.” The roster is looking for an organization that will be able to financially back them, yet if that doesn’t come to fruition, it appears as though they will stick to their roots and continue on with Team WaR sending them to select events when possible. “Not going to lie to you guys, this is hitting me hard,” the owner expressed on his personal Twitter shortly after the announcement. “F**k man. I might be off the radar for a bit but you know where to find me if you need me.” Not going to lie to you guys, this is hitting me hard. Fuck man. I might be off the radar for a bit but you know where to find me if you need me. Love you guys, really could use a Spoons in LA right about now 😂 — Kevin (@WAR_Surge) March 3, 2020 “I hope it ends up working out and we reunite for the rest of the year. I’ll be their number one fanboy for the rest of the year regardless of if they’re under the WaR umbrella or not.” There’s no denying that the move has come at an emotional cost as the roster just brought Team WaR its very first overall win at the CDC Paris event.

  • Team Sween and Mindfreak shine as the EU and APAC January 6 CWL 2K tournaments conclude – Recap and results – Dexerto

Team Sween and Mindfreak shine as the EU and APAC January 6 CWL 2K tournaments conclude – Recap and results The January 6 CWL 2K online tournaments have come to a close in both the European and Asia Pacific regions, with rather predictable results. The APAC 2K competitions have typically ended in a Mindfreak vs Tainted Mind grand final when both teams have been taking part. The only exception to that rule came in the December 16 tournament, where Tainted Minds finished 4th and Mindfreak didn’t compete. Order was restored in the January 6 edition of the event, as the new-look Mindfreak roster blew through all competition. Despite only recently adding Daniel ‘Swifty’ Hickey and Jai ‘Beastn’ Boone to the roster, Mindfreak defeated their Tainted Minds rivals 3-0 in the grand final. Losing Swifty to Mindfreak appears to have taken its toll on Tainted Minds. The close rivalry from the start of the Black Ops 4 season now appears to be largely one-sided. APAC CWL 2K Series Jan 6, 2019 – Final Placements Some of the top European teams, like Red Reserve and Reciprocity, have opted to live in North America for the Black Ops 4 season. With Lightning Pandas also opting not to compete in the January 6 EU 2K, Team Sween were expected to cruise to victory. Michael ‘Revolt’ Eaton’s pick-up team named ‘Watch Me Whip’ took second position, with The Imperial and Fact Revolution rounding out the top four.

  • Team Space’s new organization for CWL Pro League officially confirmed – Dexerto

Team Space’s new organization for CWL Pro League officially confirmed CWL Pro League roster led by Michael ‘SpaceLy’ Schmale has has officially announced that they will represent a new entrant to the Call of Duty scene for the 2019 season. The CWL Pro League kicks off in less than a week on February 4 and new organizations are starting to announce the acquisition of new rosters. Team Space has been teasing their official announcement for some weeks, and although the reveal was somewhat spoiled by Call of Duty’s website jumping the gun, fans are excited to see a new name enter CoD esports. Gen.G, best known for their League of Legends success and their Overwatch League franchise, Seoul Dynasty, confirmed the signing of Team Space on January 31. Looks like the secret is out… See you next week as we debut in @CODWorldLeague with:@SpaceLy@Maux419@MajorManiak@Nagafen@ColtHavok Coach: @JoeyNubzy pic.twitter.com/L38DKnJqZb— Gen.G esports (@GenG) January 31, 2019 Team Space was listed on the Call of Duty website as Gen.G prior to the announcement, so the official reveal was expected soon after. He also said the reason it took them so long to sign with an org after CWL Vegas was “security” since he’s seen so many other rosters end up in shambles after signing with new orgs. SpaceLy and co. were one of the hottest teams throughout the entire Black Ops 4 season despite having been without an org for most of it. They first competed under the Str8 Rippin banner for CWL Vegas where they finished with an impressive 7th-8th overall placing. That placing allowed the team to move on to the CWL Pro League Qualifier where they were placed in Pool C. While 100 Thieves and Midnight Esports ended up taking the top two seed in that Pool, SpaceLy and co. finished with a respectable 3-3 record before picking up a trio of wins that secured them a spot in the Pro League. Gen.G might be a new entrant in the Call of Duty scene, but they are certainly no stranger to esports, having fielded teams in the League of Legends, Overwatch, PUBG, and even Fortnite. They recently came in seventh on Forbes’ list of the most valuable teams in esports, with the organization being valued at $110 million as of October 2018. The CWL Pro League kicks off on February 4, with Gen.G slotted into Division A along with Call of Duty powerhouses such as OpTic Gaming and Luminosity. • Team Reciprocity’s EU CoD team ft Tommey set for move to the USA – Dexerto

Team Reciprocity’s EU CoD team ft Tommey set for move to the USA Team Reciprocity has finally come clean and announced they’ve signed a European Call of Duty team with a sprinkle of Australian flavor. The North American organization has strong Canadian roots, but it has been decided that Las Vegas, USA, will be the home for their new Call of Duty squad from across the ocean. When it was rumored that former Splyce player, Tom ‘Tommey’ Trewren, would be returning to compete after a number of months on the sidelines, it was assumed he’d be teaming up with the UNILAD lineup from the WWII season. Gossip quickly began to spread that former Mindfreak player Denholm ‘Denz’ Taylor had teamed up with the new side after deciding to make the international move, and just a short time after, Reciprocity’s name started to appear. The NA based brand has teams in Halo and Gears of War, and their move into CoD was expected after picking up former Splyce manager, Michael ‘Swizz’ Butterworth. On October 1 it was finally confirmed that the four British players and one Australian would be joining Rec, and it was revealed they’d be moving stateside. • Team Reciprocity reflect on their incredible run at the CWL Pro League Qualifier – Dexerto

Team Reciprocity reflect on their incredible run at the CWL Pro League Qualifier Following their qualification for the 2019 CWL Pro League, Team Reciprocity has shared a video looking back on its performance. The veteran Call of Duty squad secured their spot in the CWL Pro league by locking down one of the top two seeds from Pool A at the qualifier earlier in January. Despite securing one of the coveted spots, losses against FC Black and Team Divine threatened to derail the team’s progress and led to a nerve-racking time for the roster, who mistakenly thought Enigma6 needed to beat FC Black for their qualification to be confirmed. Bradley ‘Wuskin’ Marshall said about the loss against Team Divine: “I feel like it’s just people underestimating people, because when you’re playing somebody you’ve never heard of before you just think you’re going to smoke them, when in real life they’re going to give you a really good game. Just like this week’s shown.” While Zach ‘Zed’ Denyer summarised the team’s performance as having beaten the harder teams and lost to the teams they would’ve expected to beat. But the roster did get their all important qualification spot and were over the moon to have done so, with Wuskin saying: “It was the most stressful week of my life. When you actually make it, you actually sit there and think if I didn’t make it, that would literally be it, I’d be done, your year’s done, so it means more than you can imagine.” The players said they would be giving themselves a couple of days off following the qualifier before returning to their normal full practice schedule. They will return to the MLG Arena in Columbus, Ohio ahead of the league on February 4 and have set their sights high, hoping to be the best team in the world. Team Reciprocity will also be in action at the next open event, CWL Fort Worth, which takes place March 15-17.

  • Team Reciprocity accidentally confirmed their new international CoD team – Dexerto

Team Reciprocity accidentally confirmed their new international CoD team The first confirmed international roster of the CoD World League era has been announced, by what appears to be an accident. Following a rule change for the Black Ops 4 season, professional players will be able to transfer between teams in any region without the move being blocked by the CWL. This decision resulted in Australian player, Denholm ‘Denz’ Taylor, announcing he would be looking for a move to Europe or North America and away from his Mindfreak contract. After Mindfreak confirmed he’d been released, speculation began circling about Denz’ future, and it didn’t take long before one rumor started to stick. Team Reciprocity was rumored to be picking up Denz alongside the UNILAD trio of Bradley ‘Wuskin’ Marshall, Sean ‘Seany’ O’Conner and Zack ‘Zed’ Denyer. Completing the puzzle would be former Splyce player, Tom ‘Tommey’ Trewren. That speculation now looks confirmed, following the Reciprocity website including the roster on their website team page. Without any official announcement, it looks like the page has gone live too quickly, but the five-man lineup also comes with the surprise that Shan ‘Shane’ McKerral will be the coach for the season. Team Rated, which included Mayappo and Ottereyes, came out and obliterated the playing field with 169.74 points. This was thanks to the team’s 83 kills over the course of the five games as well as securing a top-5 placement in each game. Their placings gave them a 1.7 multiplier for each round. They took home $27,000 of the prize pool. While the battle for first wasn’t much of a fight, Team JoeWo and Team ScummN were in an intense race for third place. This was important as only the top three would take home cash from this event. The final game was looking good for ScummN’s squad to rally enough points, but they got killed by a player using Dead Silence. However, Dead Silence was banned from the tournament and instead of a full replay of the map, the team that killed ScummN and company just lost points, while ScummN and company didn’t get another chance to earn any. UnRationaL was very unhappy with the ruling and took his frustration to Twitter. He had 31 kills over the five games but his team finished in fifth place with 98 points. While Rated’s team headlined the event with one of the more dominating wins, there were highlights from the start. DenxH’s teammate, Jaay read a homophobic slur that was used in his chat, which led to DenxH getting banned on Twitch and the tournament. His team would go on to finish 27th out of 39 teams. With the Call of Duty League season now completed, there’s a lull period between the end of CoD Championships and the start of the new Black Ops Cold War season, with no league-organized tournaments taking place. Thankfully, Hitch and TST once again revived their throwback tournaments in partnership with CMG, with some of the most recognizable names in the game competing to take home their share of the $5,000 prize pool. 🌴 CMG x Team Summertime $5000 Invitational Winners!! 🌴 🏆 @Parasite 🏆 @EstreaI 🏆 @Lurid47 🏆 @Flames4K💸 PRIZE POOL: $5,000 💸 🔸 Bracket: https://t.co/BhcGDuB1PY pic.twitter.com/K4b8lxaDsI— CMG (@CMG_Esports) September 22, 2020 Some big names made early exits from the tournament with Kenny, Octane, and Enable who won back-to-back tournaments with 100 Thieves during the Black Ops 4 season, dropping out in Losers Round 1 after coming up against the team of iLLeY, Huke, Cellium, and new Huntsmen signing Dashy, who fell in WR1 to Team Parasite. Parasite, Estreal, Flamez, and Lurid continued to pick up victories, including an impressive win over the team of Arcitys, Simp, aBeZy, and Prestinni to secure their place in the grand finals. In the end, the grand final was a rematch of their first match of the tournament, going head-to-head with Dashy and the boys once again. While Parasite’s CMG Red team took the tournament with a 3-1 series win, every match was tightly contested, with Parasite’s young guns winning the first Hardpoint by just 25 points, and needing the fifth and deciding Control round to take map three. The victory marks a huge moment especially for Estreal and Flames, who are currently too young to compete in the CDL Challengers season, and for Parasite who is attempting to secure a place on a Call of Duty League franchise for the Black Ops Cold War Season. Team Parasite takes home the $4,000 grand prize for their exceptional run, and some major bragging rights too. You can view the full final placements below. Final Placements

  • Team owner confirms franchising will come to Call of Duty next season – Dexerto

Team owner confirms franchising will come to Call of Duty next season Franchising in professional Call of Duty is becoming a poorly kept secret as the owner of Team Kaliber said it is happening next year. While speaking on a podcast, Team Kaliber owner Justin ‘KOSDFF’ Chandler answered a fan’s question on why TK is not competing in Black Ops 4. “We are negotiating to buy a franchise license,” said Chandler. “CoD is franchising next year. So if we couldn’t get a franchise, it made it kind of hard to want to invest in [a Black Ops 4 team.]” Owner of @TeamKaliber talks about COD franchising next year pic.twitter.com/yyu04bCExt — COD World League INTEL (@INTELCallofDuty) January 20, 2019 Since Team Kaliber does not have a team in Black Ops 4, it calls into question how how they view their chances of landing a franchise for next season. Franchising means Call of Duty will follow a traditional sports league model similar to the NFL, NBA or MLB, where owners buy guaranteed spots in the competition. Currently, the Call of Duty World League has to be qualified for through an intense play-in tournament. The CoD franchise rumor started when another Activision game, Overwatch, debuted its own successful esports league with locked in places. The Overwatch League saw huge investment, with some teams paying between 20 and 60 million dollars for a spot. Traditional sports franchises like the New York Mets and New England Patriots picked up places in the league, showing how profitable esports franchises might be one day. Established Call of Duty organizations like OpTic Gaming, Team EnVy and Splyce are involved in OWL franchises already, potentially giving them managerial experience when CoD implements a similar system.

Team Ninja wins $20k Warzone Wednesday Week 3: Results & final placements Activision / FaZe ClanYouTuber and Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has brought Call of Duty fans a weekly tournament called Warzone Wednesday, featuring some of the biggest streamers and professional CoD players in the world going head-to-head in the new battle royale title. Warzone has seen a lot of success in the few weeks since its launch, reaching tens of millions of players and becoming a popular title for the top streamers and content creators across multiple platforms. So, to celebrate, Keem launched Warzone Wednesday in a similar format to Fortnite Friday back in 2018, which helped launch the careers of many of today’s Twitch streamers. Here, you can find out everything you need to know about the third week of Warzone Wednesday, which was played on Monday, April 6, due to the following days being taken over by the launch of Riot Games’ beta for their new first-person shooter, Valorant. $20K Warzone Wednesdays Week 3 recap Week 3 of Warzone Wednesday had a seriously smaller showing than in previous weeks, though the winner of the first two tournaments, Josh ‘JoshOG’ Beaver and Diego ‘Diegosaurs’ Navarette, were still in attendance. They were joined by Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, who was filling in for Apex Legends pro Jordan ‘Huskerrs’ Thomas as he was playing in the Apex Legends Global Series. Due to the reduced number of teams, where previous weeks had up to 16, the tournament started at the semi-finals, pitting the two-time winners against Tom ‘72hrs’ Mulligan’s team while the opposing side of the bracket saw Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff’s team face-off against Tyler ‘TeePee’ Polchow’s. The grand final saw Ninja, JoshOG and Diegosaurs come up against TeePee, NoahJ456 and Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad. Though it was fairly tight throughout, a couple of solid showings from Ninja’s side – as well as some tough luck for TeePee’s – kept the Mixer star on top, with his side eventually taking the win with 104 kills to TeePee’s 88 in the final. Warzone Wednesday Week 3 final standings The final standings were as follows: Though this week’s Warzone Wednesday didn’t have as many teams and big names as fans would like to see, it was still an impressive showing and proved why these guys are as popular and successful as they are. Hopefully, though, next week will feature another full bracket – and maybe we’ll see someone step up to knock JoshOG and Diegosaurs off of their perch.

  • Team Liquid announces Blackout team, pledges to grow esports scene – Dexerto

Team Liquid announces Blackout team, pledges to grow esports scene Team Liquid / ActivisionSince its debut, Blackout has been an electrifying, tense game to watch and a legendary esports organization is looking to make big waves in terms of competition and expanding the entirety of the game’s pro scene. Call of Duty added its own iteration of a battle royale with Blackout in Treyarch’s Black Ops 4. The game was met with instant acclaim from critics and fans alike, and is gearing up to be the next biggest title in battle royale esports. Team Liquid announced on December 12 that it will field its own roster for the Blackout esports scene, and furthermore, the organization said it will set up two new leagues to help foster and grow the talent and tournaments for Blackout. Team Liquid has signed four North American talents in Tanner ‘Rogue’ Trebb, Thomas ‘Flankxr’ Cook, Gage ‘Caliburn’ Meyer, and Brenden ‘Casper’ Marino that will make up its Blackout team. In their announcement, Team Liquid made a call to arms for all aspiring Blackout talent to participate in the new leagues that the organization hopes will provide an avenue to develop the game into a larger esport. “[As] an organization that prides itself on a history of competitive excellence, we want to provide opportunities for everyone to compete and develop their skills in Blackout,” the announcement said. “We’re building a scene, and we need your help… Whether you’re an experienced professional or an ambitious amateur, we implore you to participate and hone your skills in our events!” The Liquid Prestige League will be a series of weekly tournaments opened to the public for all skill ranges. The Liquid Master Prestige Invitational will presumably be an organized format that includes the higher echelon of competitors and will look to organize as soon as custom lobbies are included into Blackout. As of the announcement, no information was given to when the leagues would take place.

  • Team Kaliber’s Kenny Says Rise Nation is the Most Talented Team He’s Ever Faced Ahead of CWL Champs – Dexerto

Team Kaliber’s Kenny Says Rise Nation is the Most Talented Team He’s Ever Faced Ahead of CWL Champs After overcoming Rise Nation in three best of fives at the CWL Stage Two playoffs, Team Kaliber’s Kenny “Kenny” Williams explains why the three time WWII champions are such a tough opponent. Rise were heavy favorites going into Stage Two playoffs, and remain in many peoples eyes the best team in the game going into the CWL Championship on August 15, but Kenny now knows what it takes to best them. Team Kaliber, bolstered by the additions of Maurice “Fero” Henriquez and Ian “Enable” Wyatt, took down Stage Two playoffs by beat Rise first in the winners finals and then again in the grand final. It means that both Rise and tK are tied on three championships a piece in the WWII season, with the final event perhaps what will settle who the best team in the game is once and for all, should either of these teams make a run. Speaking with HeadsUpDaily, Kenny explains what it was like facing off against the Rise team three times at playoffs, and what makes them arguably the best team in the game. “Rise is one of the most talented teams I’ve ever played against, so it’s so stressful losing games to them because you know they can win two best of fives against you. Going into that second best of five [in grand finals], it was so stressful because we lost game 5, round 11. They more you play them, the better they get. They all know how to play the game perfectly. They don’t make wrong plays, they make every right play in the game. So you got to be on your game, and you have to have the skill there, you just got to have the gun skill.” Kenny also explained how adding both Fero and Enable to the roster helped them take down playoffs, adding that while it took some time for both players to adjust, they finally felt comfortable as a roster. Fero specifically, Kenny says had an ego initially and they had to work to make him listen and understand the team’s strategy. “It comes with the ego that he brings, they don’t listen so you got to make them listen, you’ve got to learn ways to talk to them in-game. He played a different playstyle and he just had to learn our playstyle.” Fero was exceptional in the grand final particularly, an MVP like performance. But Team Kaliber will know they need to replicate that performance or even better it if they are to walk away with the biggest prize in Call of Duty this August.

  • Team Kaliber’s Kenny Pulls Off Insane Game Winning Clutch in Hardpoint vs Echo Fox at CWL Pro League – Dexerto

Team Kaliber’s Kenny Pulls Off Insane Game Winning Clutch in Hardpoint vs Echo Fox at CWL Pro League Team Kaliber’s Kenny “Kenny” Williams put on a show to help his side open up their Stage Two CWL Pro League with two series wins. With every team with the exception of FaZe Clan having made a roster change, few could predict who would look the strongest on day one. One team that had fallen down the ranks in many fans expectations was Team Kaliber, who had been forced into a roster change following contract complications with previous player Anthony “Methodz” Zinni. Picking up Ian “Enable” Wyatt, who was recently dropped himself from Evil Geniuses, the roster had ostensibly become weaker – but their performance on day one will have silenced many doubters. Enable himself made some excellent plays, including this three piece clutch in their first match of the day against Splyce. But it was in the closing match of day one, when Kenny reminded everyone that he is one of the top SMG players in CoD: WWII, pulling off possibly the best hardpoint play we have seen all season. With the teams neck and neck at 247-247, and Echo Fox firmly in control of the hardpoint, Kenny went in as a one man army, wiping out the entire enemy roster and picking up the final three points necessary for the win. Forcing the game five, tK carried the momentum through, and closed out the series with a 6-3 SnD win, putting them to 2-0 in the league and top of the standings. Team Kaliber will now face European side Red Reserve on day two, followed by a match against Stage One winners in their final series of week 1 on Thursday May 17th.

  • Team Kaliber’s Kenny Denies Roster Rumors, Accuses Censor of Leaking Information On Purpose – Dexerto

Team Kaliber’s Kenny Denies Roster Rumors, Accuses Censor of Leaking Information On Purpose Team Kaliber star Kenny “Kenny” Williams has spoken out on the recent leaks and rumors that his Call of Duty roster was splitting. The leaks and behind the scenes knowledge have been coming thick and fast in this final weekend of rostermania, before roster lock on May 7th. In addition to OpTic Gaming, Luminosity and FaZe Clan leaks which emerged from conversations unwittingly recorded on stream, there was also a suggestion that Team Kaliber had split. The rumor was born after CompLexity player Doug “Censor” Martin entered a call which he apparently did not know was audible on Steve “Mochila” Canle’s stream, and stated “tK’s not scrimming anymore, they broke up.” It is now looking likely that tK player Anthony “Methodz” Zinni will join OpTic Gaming, but Kenny has shut down the suggestion that the rest of the Team Kaliber squad will split. And that is not all, as he in fact accuses Censor of deliberately leaking tK had split with full knowledge that his voice was on stream. Basically what happened, was that Fero and [Accuracy] got into an argument in the mumble, and we said we weren’t scrimming anymore because of that. And then [Censor] went and said that [inaudible]. Fero did not leave no. Yeah, [Censor] 100% did it on purpose. It seemed like he did, I dunno. When asked if other leaks involving OpTic Gaming and FaZe Clan which Censor was also – at least partly – responsible for, Kenny explained that he didn’t think so. It was certainly odd that Censor mentioned Team Kaliber not scrimming rather out of the blue, and added that they had split up. You can watch the original comment made on Mochila’s stream below, and decide for yourself if Censor purposefully leaked the (albeit false) information. So for now, it looks as though the core three of Kenny, Maurice “Fero” Henriquez and Lamar “Accuracy” Abedi remain. The rumor currently is that former Evil Geniuses and current Lightning Pandas player Ian “Enable” Wyatt will take Methodz’ spot, once his move to OpTic is complete.

  • Team Kaliber’s Accuracy Lives Up To His Name With Insane 1v3 vs Team Envy at CWL Pro League – Dexerto

Team Kaliber’s Accuracy Lives Up To His Name With Insane 1v3 vs Team Envy at CWL Pro League Accurate by name, accurate by nature – Lamar “Accuracy” Abedi wears his finest skill proudly on the back of his Team Kaliber jersey, and showed it off with a stunning 1v3 clutch against Team Envy in the CWL Pro League. Early in the CoD: WWII season, many regarded Accuracy as the top Assault Rifle player in the game, leading his then tK roster to back-to-back open championships, a first in his career and in the history of the tK organization, But since their high flying start, it is no secret that Team Kaliber’s fortunes have not faired so well, despite Accuracy remaining on the roster as well as the player many considered the best SMG in the game, Kenny “Kenny” Williams. Internal issues led to poor placings at the next events, and eventually the departure of Dylan “Theory” McGee and Martin “Chino” Chino. The new squad, with Maurice “Fero” Henriquez and Ian “Enable” Wyatt have seen some improvement, but are still not considered by many to be at championship caliber just yet. However, Accuracy is still keen to prove he is the very best in his position, and has been performing well individually in Division A at the CWL Pro League – exemplified by this impressive clutch. With tK already up in the series, they took an early three round advantage on the map two Search and Destroy. Just as Envy thought they had secured a round, Accuracy went one-man-army, hitting precision shots to clutch the 1v3 situation. tK went on to close out the series 3-0, pushing them to second place in the Division, only one win behind Red Reserve. While many still won’t expect them to come away with 1st place at playoffs, history has shown that anything can happen in CoD: WWII, and if Accuracy can keep up his form they will certainly be in with a shot. • Team Kaliber Remain in Incredible Form as They Claim CWL Pro League Stage 2 Grand FInal Spot – Dexerto

Team Kaliber Remain in Incredible Form as They Claim CWL Pro League Stage 2 Grand FInal Spot Team Kaliber has booked a place in the CWL Pro League Stage 2 grand finals with a win over Rise Nation. The back-to-back champions of the last two events will have to fight from the lower bracket if they’re to claim a third consecutive title. Team Kaliber is also looking for their third championship of the season, although for them it’s been longer in the making. With a top two finish locked in, this is already the organization’s best result since it won the first two major events of the season. In this winner bracket final it was Rise Nation that had the hot hand in the first map, opening up a sizeable lead on London Docks Hardpoint. Team Kaliber made things closer towards the end, but Rise Nation held them at bay fairly comfortably to take the win. Up next was Valkyrie Search and Destroy, the closest map of the series as neither team was able to put it away until the very last round, when Team Kaliber came through for a 6-5 win, tying up the series at 1-1. That proved all the opening that tK needed, putting in a convincing 3-1 Ardennes Forest CTF to claim the series lead before dominating Gibraltar Hardpoint 250-102 to send Rise Nation to the lower bracket. This isn’t the first time Rise has found themselves in this position, however, with their CWL Seattle win coming off of an epic lower bracket run. This time, they’ll only need to win one extra series to return to the grand finals. That series will be against Red Reserve, who Rise have already beaten in this tournament. Whoever wins will have to take down Team Kaliber in back-to-back series in order to win the trophy. • Sources Indicate Team Kaliber Owner KOSDFF Will Attempt to Block the Sale of Methodz to OpTic via a Restraining Order – Dexerto

Sources Indicate Team Kaliber Owner KOSDFF Will Attempt to Block the Sale of Methodz to OpTic via a Restraining Order The contract dispute between Rise Nation and Team Kaliber over pro CoD player Anthony ‘Methodz’ Zinni could end up impacting the new OpTic CoD team. After failing to win a single event of the six Call of Duty WWII tournaments that have taken place throughout the 2017/2018 season, OpTic Gaming decided to part ways with Matt ‘FormaL’ Piper and Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow. Sam ‘Octane’ Larew came in a direct trade with LG for FormaL, but the matter of a fourth was a more difficult acquisition. After reportedly being unable to get their hands on Tommy ‘ZooMaa’ Paparatto from FaZe or Peirce ‘Gunless’ Hillman from Rise Nation, they turned their attention to Anthony ‘Methodz’ Zinni. Methodz had been competing for Rise until he was sold to make room for Austin ‘Slasher’ Liddicoat. He made his debut at CWL Seattle and tK finished 5th/6th in a respectable first outing. Behind the scenes it wasn’t all quite as straightforward as everything seemed, with tK reportedly not sending the $10,000 fee for Methodz in time, resulting in Rise Nation deciding to sell his contract to OpTic for a higher price. Fast forward to Monday May 7th and Team Kaliber owner Justin ‘KOSDFF’ Chandler released a video to explain that he would be “pursuing legal remedies for breach of contract.” Sources close to the situation have confirmed to Dexerto that KOSDFF has begun the process to obtain a restraining order, which would stop the sale of Methodz’ contract to OpTic. This would stop Rise from being able to sell the contract of Methodz until the dispute was settled. We reached out to esports lawyer, Roger Quiles (http://www.esports.law/), who provided more insight into the situation from a theoretical point of view. “There are a lot of unknowns here, most importantly what the contract looks like between Rise and tK. Hopefully that document accounts for non-payment and creates termination rights, as that would make this situation crystal clear from a legal perspective. Under the assumption that it isn’t, it is difficult to determine who is in the right here. In theory, if the contract is still viable, then tK would be appropriately seeking an injunction to stop the player transfer.” He continued to explain the likely process that Team Kaliber would go through in order to obtain a temporary restraining order, which would ultimately block the sale to OpTic. “Team Kaliber would be petitioning the court (generally done in a hearing) for the temporary restraining order while the legal matter gets sorted by the court. Then tK would need to prove that it is then entitled to that order based on a showing of proof and harm. This would in theory restrain the sale of Methodz’ contract to OpTic, and would prevent Rise from entering into an agreement for Methodz with any other organization.” We have reached out to KOSDFF and Team Kaliber for comment on the situation. Stage Two of the CWL Pro League begins for OpTic on Tuesday May 29th when Division B kicks off. Will Methodz be part of the OpTic roster?

  • Team Kaliber Owner KOSDFF Reveals He’ll Be Suing Rise Nation Over Methodz – Dexerto

Team Kaliber Owner KOSDFF Reveals He’ll Be Suing Rise Nation Over Methodz Team Kaliber Owner Justin ‘KOSDFF’ Chandler revealed that he will be suing Rise Nation over Anthony ‘Methodz’ Zinni’s contract transfer agreement. Following the completion of Stage One during the 2018 CWL Pro League, a collection of high profile roster changes have occurred across various teams, which has come to be known as ‘Rostermania’ within the community. However, one of the most notable moves took place when the OpTic Gaming squad of three years decided to trade Matthew ‘FormaL’ Piper to Luminosity for Sam ‘Octane’ Larew and pick up Methodz in place of Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow. While Octane was brought to the roster via a direct trade, OpTic Gaming needed to bring Methodz to the squad via a contract buy-out after he had previously competed for Team Kaliber at the CWL Seattle Open. However, it appears that there may be some behind the scenes issues with the contract buyout after KOSDFF, the longtime Owner of Team Kaliber, released a video mentioning how the organization is planning to pursue legal action against Rise Nation for their handling of the situation. More: Karma Shares More Details About How He Was Dropped from OpTic Gaming, His Relationship With Scump, and His Offer to Join FaZe Clan – He mentions how even though they had binding agreements to keep Methodz on tK, Rise allegedly disregarded the contract and sold the rights to OpTic for more money. “We had a signed transfer agreement with Rise and consideration had been sent – it was pretty much a done-deal when I talked to the manager of Rise. Everything was looking good, everything was fine. Now two days later […] I got a string of text messages from the manager of Rise saying that they were voiding our transfer and that they were going to sell Methodz to another team for more money.” Methodz as a member of Rise Nation KOSDFF later went on to state that after Rise allegedly disregarded the contract agreement, Team Kaliber will be pursing ‘legal remedies’ for breach of contract, along with recovering their original, five-figure transfer fee. “They were just going to ignore our transfer agreement and ignore that Methodz had played for us at all, and just act like he had never been transferred from Rise, then went ahead and made that transfer from Rise to OpTic. [It’s left us with our hands up in the air, like, ‘what the fuck just happened?’ So, obviously, we’re going to be pursuing legal remedies for breach of contract and other things like that, and also to recover our very large, five-figure transfer fee that we’re just out now.” The full video from KOSDFF can be viewed below.

  • Team Kaliber Owner KOSDFF Makes Big Threat Amid Speculation His CoD Team Will Disband – Dexerto

Team Kaliber Owner KOSDFF Makes Big Threat Amid Speculation His CoD Team Will Disband Left: Team KaliberThe competitive Call of Duty community has been embroiled in speculation as the second roster mania of the 2018 CWL season is in full swing, with top teams all rumored to be making changes. At the center of the speculation, is the dynastic OpTic Gaming roster, who after over three years of competing together look certain to split following a disappointing first half of the WWII season. On May 1st, we reported on a credible source’s claims that Team Kaliber player Anthony “Methodz” Zinni was crucial to a number of high profile deals, due to a complex contractual situation with Methodz’ former team, Rise Nation. Our source explains that despite Methodz transfer to tK, his contract is still owned by Rise, as tK are yet to met the buyout – which has now expired. As a result, Rise are in talks with OpTic Gaming to take sell Methodz’ contract, with OpTic then set to use Methodz as a bargaining piece with FaZe Clan for Tommy “ZooMaa” Paparratto. Of course none of this is officially confirmed, and negotiations are on going. However, whatever the situation is, it looks as though Team Kaliber is not getting the best end of the deal, as owner Justin “KOSDFF” Chandler posted a rather telling Tweet. Might have to blow the lid off rostermania soon. Literally the shadiest stuff I’ve ever seen. Going full KOSburner tomorrow. — Justin Chandler (@KOSDFF) May 1, 2018 It is unclear exactly what KOSDFF is referring to, but it certainly indicates that there is potential for one of the team’s star players to be moving, leaving tK in a tough spot. The most likely case is that Methodz is indeed still technically owned by Rise Nation, and feels his chances may be better on another roster, or is not being given a choice given the contractual situation. KOSDFF is yet to go “full KOSburner” (referring to the recent ‘CoDBurner’ account which ‘leaked’ numerous roster dealings), but if sticks to his word we should be seeing some more come from the tK owner within coming days.

  • Team Kaliber Owner KOSDFF Addresses Reports That He Is Seeking to Block the Sale of Methodz to OpTic – Dexerto

Team Kaliber Owner KOSDFF Addresses Reports That He Is Seeking to Block the Sale of Methodz to OpTic The Call of Duty RosterMania saga that has recently erupted involving Team Kaliber, Rise Nation, and pro player Anthony ‘Methodz’ Zinni has taken another unexpected turn. In this latest development, TK owner Justin ‘KOSDFF’ Chandler has addressed recent reports that he and his org are attempting to block the sale of Methodz to OpTic Gaming. Methodz was transferred from Rise Nation to tK before CWL Seattle, with there apparently being a contracted agreement in place for the move to become permanent soon thereafter. However, according to KOSDFF, Rise breached that agreement and sold the player’s contract to OpTic for a higher fee. KOSDFF confirmed that, as a result, tK would “be pursuing legal remedies for breach of contract and other things like that, and also to recover our very large, five-figure transfer fee.” The situation escalated soon after when sources close to the situation reported that tK and KOSDFF were apparently trying to block Methodz’s move to OpTic by obtaining some sort of restraining order. However, the org’s owner released a statement on May 8th on his Twitter account debunking these reports as false. We’re happy for @Methodz to be on Optic. The stories being circulated are 100% false. — Justin Chandler (@KOSDFF) May 9, 2018 Having already named Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt as their new fourth, it would not make much sense anyway for tK to go out of their way to try to block Methodz from joining OpTic. However, this tweet is no indication that tK will not still try to pursue legal action against Rise Nation for breaching their agreement.

  • Team Kaliber owner discusses future of CoD team – Dexerto

Team Kaliber owner discusses future of CoD team After a phenomenal run at CWL Champs that saw Team Kaliber lose in the championship match, the team’s roster was poached by other organizations, but that doesn’t appear to be the end for TK. Team Kaliber owner Justin ‘KOSDFF’ Chandler, took to Twitter to reassure TK fans that the organization is still trying to stay in the CWL after the roster was decimated in the offseason. I know everyone is awaiting info on #TKCOD. Right now we’re in late stages of negotiations with an investor group. Our main concern is obtaining the means to acquire a franchise spot for COD so that fielding a team in BO4 makes sense. HUGE MOVES are happening.️ #tKAllDay — Justin Chandler (@KOSDFF) October 5, 2018 Maybe the most interesting part of that tweet, however, is Chandler referring to being in the CWL as a ‘franchise spot.’ Previously, Richard Lewis has reported that the CWL will eventually move to regional franchised locations, in a similar style to Activision Blizzard’s OWL. More: Richard Lewis Claims CWL Franchise Spots Have Already Been Offered to OWL Teams, Activision Also Targeting New Investment – This tweet seems to indicate that change will be happening sooner rather than later. Losing Kenny, Fero, Accuracy and Enable would be tough on any organization but it seems TK is still trying to secure a roster to compete in Black Ops 4 with the help of a “billionaire or a ball club.” The wheels of big business do turn slowly. I’ve managed to kept it from public eye but I’ve been traveling frequently over the past 9 months to meet potential partners. Got to be professional KOS in board rooms with billionaires and ball teams. Can’t share yet but SOON #tKAllDay — Justin Chandler (@KOSDFF) October 5, 2018 Until now, he had kept those meetings a secret, but him letting the world know on Twitter appears to be an indication that a deal is close.

FaZe Clan pulled off an incredible upset over OpTic Gaming to reach the winner bracket semi-finals, but a Team Kaliber in impressive form proved too great an obstacle for the Stage 1 champions. Team Kaliber have been praised for their Hardpoint play, and once again they showed why in the opening map of this series. FaZe put up an impressive fight, but tK were able to close things out at 250-205 to draw first blood in the series. FaZe Clan leaned heavily on Search and Destroy in their upset over OpTic Gaming the previous day, but though some heroics from James ‘Replays’ Crowder put FaZe on the board first, tK came back quickly to take the lead. Team Heretics win Nov 18-19 EU CWL 2K tournament – recap and final placements The November 18-19 Call of Duty World League Black Ops 4 2000 Series tournament has now wrapped up for the European region. Spain-based Team Heretics claimed victory at the most recent 2K, securing the maximum 2,000 Pro Points and the $1,500 first place prize. This was the second straight 2K victory for Heretics, who also placed first in the Nov 11-12 tournament. The final featured Team Heretics sweeping Team Reciprocity 3-0, in what was a rematch of last week’s final, which finished with an identical scoreline. With the first seven round of the tournament having been played on November 18, the four teams that qualified through to day two played the final two rounds of the competition on November 19. Heretics reached the grand final on the virtue of their 3-1 victory over Team Stanley, which was a rematch of their matchup in the exact same round of last week’s tournament. The other semifinal featured a tight matchup that went the distance, as Reciprocity defeated week one winners Team Sween 3-2. The full bracket for the November 18-19 EU 2K can be viewed on the tournament page by visiting the MLG website HERE. By making it to back-to-back grand finals, Heretics and Team Reciprocity proved their legitimacy as the top two teams in the EU region, with both looking to make a splash at the upcoming CWL Vegas event in early December. As is seemingly the case every week, several notable teams were missing from the day two festivities, including Gone Gaming and Team 3G, who finished 5-8, while both MadCat and Co. and Reedy’s squad were eliminated in round six and finished 9-16. This included defending champions ‘Team Sween,’ who were knocked out in round six, runners-up Team 3G coming in at 5-8, and Gone Gaming, who only lasted until the fifth round. The EU 2K tournament was the second if its kind to be played over the past few days, with the APAC region’s tournament having been won by Mindfreak on November 11.

Team Heretics and Team Reciprocity announce CoD roster moves following CWL Anaheim Team Heretics / CWL / MLG / Team ReciprocityThe Call of Duty World League transfer window is in its final hours and two teams in Reciprocity and Heretics have made some last minute changes to bolster their roster for the last push in the season. The Pro League Finals are itching their way closer, and teams are loading up by making some tough decisions before heading into the latter portion of the CWL circuit. There’s already been major transfer moves that have seen young star players on loan to competing orgs while big teams have put emerging talents with previous World Champs. Reciprocity made multiple moves Now a formidable Reciprocity side have moved Sean ‘Seany’ O’Connor to the substitute position as they add former Denial-turned-Units player Alex ‘Alexx’ Carpenter to the active roster. The change will also have Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren moving from the sub position to a streamer role with hopes of his competitive return being at CWL Miami through the Open Bracket. The team has shown flashes of brilliance throughout the Pro League season but haven’t been able to get above .500 in season. The addition of Alexx could be what the team has been needing to push them up further in the standings before the seasons close. The complete roster now consists of Bradley ‘wuskin’ Marshall, Zach ‘Zed’ Denyer, Denholm ‘Denz’ Taylor, Dylan ‘Dylan’ Henderson and Alexx. Alexx will hit the ground running as he and his new team will be up against eUnited in Week 12 of the CWL Pro League season as well as Team Envy immediately after. Heretics adding a new piece to their puzzle Fans of Team Heretics meanwhile will have to trust in their organization as the Spanish team have replaced Endika ‘Sukry’ Andres with Ronaldo ‘Wartex’ Lavado. So far the move has been met with mixed emotions, but the 10-8 squad haven’t had the best outings as of late which might have fueled management to change up the roster. All the vamos in the league will now be supporting a Heretics roster composed of Alejandro ‘Lucky’ López, Juan ‘JurNii’ Antonio González, Jorge ‘MethodZ’ Bancells, Adrian ‘MeTTalZ’ Serrano and Wartex. Heretics are on course against OpTic Gaming and Midnight, which will be a great gauge to see how they fare against the tougher teams in the league. These teams are hoping the trade deadline moves will give them a better chance of having strong showings as the CWL season winds down. Team FaZe Bloo wins $50K NICKMERCS Warzone MFAM Gauntlet: results, recap FaZe Clan / Doritos / Hoops Rumors / TimtheTatman[jwplayer br5AuoVJ] For the third month in a row, star Twitch streamer Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff hosted a $50,000 Call of Duty: Warzone tournament called the MFAM Gauntlet, and we’ve got everything you need to catch up on all of the action. As one of the world’s leading content creators for Warzone, NICKMERCS put together the third installment of his fan-favorite MFAM Gauntlet competition. Following three community-day subscriber tourneys, the main event finally arrived, featuring some of the biggest names in gaming, sports, and entertainment, all battling it out for a massive prize pool. $25,000 was up for grabs for the highest-placing teams, while another $25,000 went towards a charity of the winning squad’s choosing. $50K MFAM Gauntlet recap Competition was extremely close throughout the event though some of the biggest names were dismissed earlier than most would have expected. The likes of Tfue, Pamaj, Crimsix and plenty others, were all knocked out before the single-elimination bracket. A team full of Warzone champions and top contenders to win it all were also knocked out early, though this came with its fair share of controversy. Vikkstar, WarsZ, JukeyZ, and Callfreezy were on track to make the top 8 teams until disaster struck. The squad encountered a devastating server crash, putting a heartbreaking end to their run through the tournament. The single-elimination bracket was fierce from the get-go as even NICKMERCS and his team were wiped out in the first round by Call of Duty veteran, Karma, and his lineup. Ultimately, it was Team JKap and Team Bloo that pushed their way through to the Grand Finals, however. Both squads were neck and neck throughout the final round of the competition. Heading into the last map, just a handful of kills separated the teams though it was Team FaZe Bloo that managed to come out on top in the end. Even with the lead firmly secured, they kept up the pressure and closed out the final map with an overall victory. MFAM Gauntlet Warzone final placements (Top 8) When was the June MFAM Gauntlet Warzone event? The tournament took place on Monday, June 29, having kicked off at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET. Live leaderboard & bracket The standings and bracket for this event can be found on the MFAM Gauntlet website and were updated live throughout the day as results from all the matches came in. Teams & players As with the previous two main events, the June MFAM Gauntlet featured a number of top content creators, Call of Duty pros, athletes, celebrities, musicians, and more. Nick himself was competing alongside fellow FaZe Clan member Swagg and reigning back-to-back champion SuperEvan. An additional three slots were reserved for the winners of his subscriber tournaments that were held throughout June. Format & prize breakdown The MFAM Gauntlet main event was split into two portions – a time-based phase followed by the knockout stage. For the first three hours, teams loaded into public Quads matches and tried to score as many points as possible. Scoring is based on both total eliminations and placement, and only the five best games from each squad count. Once the timed section was over, the top-eight teams on the leaderboard then advanced to a single-elimination bracket. In each round, the squads matched up against each other and tried to secure the highest score based on the same format as before. The team with the most points after the two matches advanced and this continued until the overall champion was determined from the last two standing. If during this bracket phase, squads ended up in a tie, two members from each side would then face off in six rounds of 2v2 Gunfight to decide who moved on. As for the prize breakdown, the top six teams from the knockout stage received a portion of the $50,000 prize pool, with an additional $1,000 going to the teams with the most eliminations and the player with the most individual kills in bracket play. However, players will only keep half of their winnings; the other half ($25,000 total), went to the charity of the winners’ choice as part of an effort to contribute to the charge for social justice and equality. • Team Envy’s Huke Clutches Up vs Echo Fox Causing Temp to Lose His Cool at the CWL Pro League – Dexerto

Team Envy’s Huke Clutches Up vs Echo Fox Causing Temp to Lose His Cool at the CWL Pro League Team Envy pulled of two ridiculous hardpoint comebacks against Echo Fox in the final match of the night at the CWL Pro League, as Cuyler “Huke” Garland put in an MVP like individual performance. Despite Envy’s struggles since the roster changes that saw Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat move to Rise Nation, Huke has been a consistently strong performer, particularly at the Pro League. Envy won their first match back at the Pro League following their poor showing at CWL Anaheim, winning 3-1 against FaZe and were sitting in a comfortable position to secure top four and a playoff spot. However, losing their next match 3-1 to Splyce all of a sudden shifted the balance, and Envy were in desperate need of a win against Echo Fox in the final match of the week. Echo Fox started stronger in the match, but a big comeback on map one hardpoint saw Envy take the early advantage. Echo Fox pegged them back immediately on the next two maps though, taking a 2-1 lead. On the next hardpoint, with Envy needing a win to force map five, Echo Fox’s Donovan “Temp” Laroda perhaps got slightly over confident and shot bodies of his opponents – a move which has historically in the WWII season led to some bad karma. And Huke made him regret it, going on a seven kill spree in the middle hardpoint to secure yet another comeback – and the frustration was visibly clear from Temp. Unfortunately for Envy though, they couldn’t keep the momentum going in the final map, which they lost 6-4, finishing the week with a 5-5 series record and just outside of the playoff spots as it stands. Echo Fox and Temp particularly will be relieved not to have lost the series, one which they likely should have closed out 3-0, had they avoided the first hardpoint comeback, not to mention the second. There are positive signs for Envy heading into the final week of Division A though, especially with Huke performing so well individually they should be optimistic of winning their upcoming series Team Kaliber, Red Reserve and Epsilon.

Envy owner Hastr0 helps ex-Excelerate CoD roster after being left shocked by situation Esports AwardsTeam Envy CEO Mike ‘Hastr0’ Rufail has offered a helping hand to the former Excelerate Gaming roster, after their organization shockingly dropped the team ahead of Call of Duty season. The same day as they were dropped, Beehzy released a lengthy YouTube video, accusing Tan of blackmailing the roster, using the Pro League spot as leverage, and also claims that none of the players were paid the agreed upon salary which their contracts demanded. In a surprising turn of events, the dismissed players seem to have been handed a lifeline at the last minute and might not miss out on CWL Fort Worth entirely. Hastr0 has offered his services to Excelerate’s former Call of Duty team, after reaching out to them on Twitter. “Hate to see what happened to the Excelerate COD team,” he tweeted. “Tag the players and let them know I’m willing to help them get to CWL Ft,” he continued. “Worth on my dime. I’ll do whatever I can to help them get there and compete.” Haven’t checked the rules here, but pretty sure I can make a donation to those guys and help out without creating any conflict. Been in COD esports since the beginning and never seen anything like this. — Mike Rufail (@hastr0) March 7, 2019 Hastr0 has since confirmed that he has secured a team pass for the amateur bracket and things look to be moving in a positive direction for the hard done by squad. CWL Fort Worth is set to take place between March 15-17 and it certainly looks as though the currently teamless players will be one step closer to competing at the event.

  • Call of Duty: Apathy discusses the best and worst things about teaming with ACHES – Dexerto

Call of Duty: Apathy discusses the best and worst things about teaming with ACHES Team Envy Call of Duty stars Patrick ‘ACHES’ Price and Bryan ‘Apathy’ Zhelyazkov might have won a World Championship together, but that doesn’t mean they always see eye-to-eye. The veteran players have been competing with and against one another for over seven years, and they’ve certainly had the chance to learn each other’s tendencies both inside of the game and out. So when Envy released a YouTube video on December 6 titled ‘What does Apathy think of Aches?! – Meet Team Envy COD’, fans of the team were expecting some hilarious trash talk. “Now ACHES is a character. Wow, he gets on my nerves pretty bad,” said Apathy in the introduction segment. However, his analysis of ACHES as a Call of Duty player in the latter stages of the 15 minute video were significantly more serious and gave a great insight into the inner workings of Team Envy. He said: “He’s a good leader, I feel like he helps the team in a lot of ways. But, I would say two things that really get on my nerves with him, sometimes, is one: when he gets really frustrated, the effort starts to diminish because he loses full composure. And then another thing is he can be a little bit toxic at times.” Apathy went on to discuss the team’s 2018 CoD World Championship win under Evil Geniuses, stating that he believes this victory was a major turning point for ACHES and the team as a whole. “But after winning champs and after sort of working it out, he’s definitely calmed down which is awesome,” he said. “I mean, you love to see that type of progression, especially with a team that we’ve been teaming with for a while. “Other than that, I mean he’s just a really good leader, he understands how to win, he understands what it takes to win and how to play the map.” The 24-year-old concludes by saying that his relationship with ACHES is excellent outside of the game, saying: “Definitely a fun guy to be around. Sometimes I hate him in game, but I never really hate him out of game, it’s weird!” The video doesn’t just concentrate on ACHES – all of the Envy players on the roster are put through the ringer by their teammates, and the honesty about in-game issues is a constant theme. With the players clearly feeling comfortable enough with one another to speak honestly, and having a Call of Duty World Championship in their pockets, it will be interesting to see how their chemistry carries over into the first Black Ops 4 event of the season at CWL Las Vegas.

  • Team Envy’s Apathy: from the brink of retirement to becoming a 2x World Champion – Dexerto

Team Envy’s Apathy: from the brink of retirement to becoming a 2x World Champion Reigning world champion, Bryan ‘Apathy’ Zhelyazkov, has shared an insight into how he nearly quit competitive Call of Duty and how he managed to bring it back. Succeeding in competitive esports is no easy task, even for well-known players who many believe are at the top of their game, like Envy’s Apathy. He may have just won the CWL Championship with Evil Geniuses – his second world championship – but only three years ago he was considering leaving the competitive Call of Duty world altogether. It may be hard to believe considering his recent performance, but Apathy has admitted that before Black Ops III was released in 2015, he was struggling financially and was weighing up whether to give up on esports if his placings did not improve. During Advanced Warfare, he struggled to achieve high results, with a number of 9-12 placings at LAN events throughout the year, and a 13-16 finish at the MLG World Finals 2015, with Team Kaliber. Despite those results and his situation, Apathy chose to dedicate his time to improving and being the best he could be. I remember before Black Ops 3 came out I was pretty much broke & at the brink of quitting if things didnt get better. I decided to devote all my time into being the best & was letting nothing stop me. All types of sacrifices were made. I’m truly blessed to be where I am now — Apathy NV (@Apathy_BZ) 25 September 2018 His hard work paid off with several top-place finishes on Black Ops III, including the biggest tournament of the year, the CWL Championship 2016 under Team Envy. Apathy said that he had chosen to share this because he was grateful for where he was, as well as the hard work he has put in, and also wanted to remind others not to give up when they may be struggling. The reason I’m tweeting this is because 1. I always think about that time and I’m just grateful to be where I’m at now. Don’t get wrong, I worked my ass off for it but still it’s a blessing. 2. I get tweets here and there about it and it is crazy to think about. Never give up — Apathy NV (@Apathy_BZ) 25 September 2018 In 2016, he continued with Team Envy in the Infinite Warfare season, where despite another up and down season (including his tied lowest placing ever, top 24 at CWL Anaheim), he ended it on a high, finishing 2nd at both the Stage 2 playoffs, and the World Championship. And it was a similar story last season, as a rollercoaster of a year yet again ended on a high with his second world championship ring, making him one of only five players to win two or more rings. He went on to share some advice with others, saying it was clear in his own performance which games he had put more time into and which he had not, and that hard work really does pay off. He has now returned to Envy, along with the rest of the former EG roster, and will have his focus firmly placed on securing more championships for the boys in blue.

Once the CWL Pro League wrapped up its fourth week with the defending champion Team Envy sitting near the bottom of Division B, teams started shuffling around during a frantic transfer window ahead of the next CWL event. During the March 10 episode of Trading Shots, analyst Jonathan ‘Pacman’ Tucker mentioned that Envy’s star player Cuyler ‘Huke’ Garland at one point voiced his intentions of leaving the squad. Team Envy has had a rough start to the Pro League, currently sitting in sixth place with a record of 3-4, and it seems like frustrations led Huke to ask for a transfer. Read more: What to expect from Black Ops 4’s March 12 update – Shamrock & Awe event, Blackout update, and more – “Envy also wanted a change, Huke wanted to be off Envy,” Pacman said. “Huke wanted to go to multiple other teams.” Pacman and Anthony ‘Nameless’ Wheeler were discussing which teams were most likely to get out of Fort Worth’s “Group of Death.” The conversation led to a revealing dive of the 19-year-old’s relationship with his org. “Okay, we’re talking about the player that actually wanted to leave their team,” Nameless said. “Huke actually wanted to leave. This has happened multiple times and Envy has dealt with this multiple times.” Huke has so far been a standout not only for Envy, but in the Pro League as a whole. There were high hopes for the 2019 Envy lineup when they signed the majority of Evil Geniuses’ World Championship-winning squad, but the team struggled throughout the season, with the lowest point coming at CWL Anaheim when they exited the tournament without winning a single map. Whether the quartet will attempt to remain together heading into 2020 remains unknown, but it’s now apparent that their futures lie away from Team Envy. • Team DougisRaw wins NICKMERCS $20K MFAM Warzone event: Results & recap – Dexerto

Team DougisRaw wins NICKMERCS $20K MFAM Warzone event: Results & recap FaZe Clan / CDL / Tfue / BlessedMMA / Packers[jwplayer br5AuoVJ] Star Twitch streamer Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff hosted another run of his popular MFAM Gauntlet Warzone tournament series on July 22, this time for Duos, and we’ve got everything you need to catch up on all the action. Thanks to backing from Activision, NICKMERCS has been able to turn his fan-favorite MFAM Gauntlet Warzone competitions from a monthly event to a weekly affair. Following the Trios tournament that took place on July 14, this next one focused on Duos, once again featuring some of the biggest names in both gaming and other areas of entertainment. MFAM Gauntlet July Warzone Duos tourney recap From Call of Duty League pros to UFC Champions, teams were stacked in the Duos competition but only the best could advance to the finals bracket. Many of the biggest names were knocked out contention early as they failed to find a huge amount of opening points. Even Call of Duty veteran and popular Warzone streamer TeePee and Bobbypoffgaming missed out on the bracket by just five points. Brothers and Royal Ravens teammates Wuskinz and Skrapz both found themselves in the final leg of the event. However, they appeared on separate teams and were forced to square off in the first round of bracket play. Ultimately, Tfue and Wuskinz trumped Vikkstar and Skrapz to advance into the semifinals. While results were extremely close throughout the final matchups, it was Team DougisRaw and Team HusKerrs that made it through to this week’s grand final series. The first game was extremely close with both teams finding a ton of kills. It was the second round where DougisRaw and UnRationaL pulled away with the lead, however. Doug managed to secure the most kills of the event in order to give his team the edge and win the final series in impressive fashion. MFAM Gauntlet July Warzone Duos tourney placements (Top 8) Schedule and stream The Duos MFAM Gauntlet Main Event kicked off at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET on Wednesday, July 22. It was streamed live on the tournament’s main channel (included below), featuring Call of Duty League casters Clint ‘Maven’ Evans and Joe ‘Merk’ DeLuca. In the kill-race phase, teams earn points based on a scoring system that’s based on both eliminations and placement, with each kill being worth one point. Once the three-hour time limit is reached, everyone submits their five best games and the top eight teams in the leaderboard then get seeded into a single-elimination bracket for the knockout phase, which will be a head-to-head matchup between two Duos in the same Quads lobby. So, while they may be teammates in-game, for the purposes of the tournament, the matched-up teams go against each other, with the objective of trying to get more eliminations than their opponents. The bracket portion determines the champions and overall final placements, with the $20,000 prize pool being split between the top six duos and an additional $1,000 going to the individual player who had the most eliminations. • Players angry as Team Deathmatch playlist removed from Black Ops 4 on PC – Dexerto

Players angry as Team Deathmatch playlist removed from Black Ops 4 on PC Fans are disappointed that the Team Deathmatch playlist, a staple in almost any multiplayer shooter, has been removed from the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 multiplayer mode on PC. Before the launch of Black Ops 4 in October, Treyarch made a promise to cater to their PC gaming fanbase despite the fact that previous Call of Duty developers had struggled to do so in the past. After a successful launch with Black Ops 4 and with the addition of a new battle royale mode, Blackout, many multiplayer fans feel as if they have been neglected by developers as the primary focus in updates seems to be on pushing Blackout content and changes. Blackout has had a ton of hype since the Black Ops 4 launch. In a recent playlist update for PC players on Black ops 4, the classic Call of Duty mode Team Deathmatch was removed as a standalone playlist from the multiplayer. It has not been completely removed from the game however, instead merged into a new combined playlist called Deathmatch Moshpit, which features a rotation of Kill Confirmed and TDM matches. Some CoD fans on Reddit, such as user ‘ThatNahr’, believe the change has been implemented to mask the fact that there is a low player base on Black Ops 4’s multiplayer mode and that it was done to help people find games easier on PC. Many PC gamers are unhappy with this change with other players stating “it’s sad that this is the state of the game on PC. What a let down.” This makes the Deathmatch Moshpit playlist a hard sell for Treyarch, as players often prefer to play Call of Duty multiplayer without worrying about any objectives and to solely focus on kills as was seen in the classic TDM playlist.

From ACHES to Chino and even Karma, there were a ton of big names involved in this first NA event. After a long bracket with hundreds of teams, the finals came down to a matchup between BabyFaZe and Revenge Tour. Ultimately, BabyFaZe continued a hotstreak, outclassing their opponents 3-0 and carrying out a nine map win streak from the upper bracket. Meanwhile, veterans like Karma, finished in the Top 6 alongside ACHES, Classic, and Saints. Other familiar names such as Triumph and the Los Angeles Guerillas Academy team also pushed through to the top of the standings in this opening event. Coming from multiple rosters in the Modern Warfare season, House Tarth collects some of the best talent in the region and they’ve proven their skills in this first event. It seems we could have a close rivalry at the top of the scene for quite some time. Team Singularity managed to push through the lower bracket and win the first bo5 in the finals. However, House Tarth fought back and swept through the second bo5 in the blink of an eye. Veteran names like Dqvee, Weeman, and Breszy, all made an impact in the top eight for this opening event. Expect to see them keeping form throughout the coming year. APAC Challengers Cup #1 Results APAC Cup champs, the streak lives on lol ! 19 in a row GGs to everyone we played. Hot off the heels of a flawless Modern Warfare season, the roster had been revamped slightly ahead of BOCW. Former Paris Legion players Shockz and Louqa joined previous members Fighta and Pred. They cruised through the upper bracket and swept the grand final series over VOID. Various Japanese teams managed to crack into the top eight, though it seems they’ll have a mountain to climb if anyone wants to dethrone Renegades in BOCW.

From Mochilla’s team to Slasher’s squad, many veterans were knocked out of the running early into the event. On the opposite end of things, the likes of Envoy, Scump, and ACHES, all helped lead their teams through the upper bracket. Ultimately, it was ACHES, Loony, Pacman, and Goonjar that fought all the way through to the Grand Finals without dropping a series. They met Kenny’s team in the final round of the day, once ACHES was woken up from his power nap… Aches made it all the way to finals and then fell asleep waiting for his match. I’ve thrown A LOT of tournaments… this is a first lmfao. — OpTic Hitch (@hitchariide) October 8, 2020 When everything was finally said and done, it was Kuavo’s team that took out the first series with a 3-1 win. • Warzone September 2 update patch notes: Serpentine nerf, Gas Mask changes, more – Dexerto

Warzone September 2 update patch notes: Serpentine nerf, Gas Mask changes, more ActivisionWarzone Season 5 is well underway and the September 2 update is patching up a few holes created by the new content and bringing yet another Serpentine nerf into the game. The final Vanguard-based season of Warzone is underway and the battle royale experience underwent some big changes as a result. From new game modes to new blueprints, there was quite a lot to unpack in the Season 5 patch notes and this new update aimed to clean things up a bit One smaller adjustment, a third nerf to Serpentine in as many months, also arrived in this update in a move the devs hope will make the perk’s counters more effective. This move was announced back in August but is only now going live. Warzone September 2 update patch notes The biggest thing in this update is the arrival of that aforementioned Serpentine nerf. Now players will only receive the extra layer of protection that the perk offers while using Tactical Sprint. This change means that the window of time in which an enemy is protected during a gunfight is dramatically lowered unless they’re able to reset the high-speed ability at some point during their escape attempt. According to the patch notes, this will make options like ‘Frangible-Disabling’ and the Vanguard gunperk ‘Disable’ more effective against the highly-picked survivability booster. Accompanying this change was a tweak to Gas Masks, particularly some improvements for those who use the manual toggle setting. The mask will now appear in the first slot of the Quick Inventory Menu, making it easier to access overall. Operation Last Call also saw some minor changes, the details of which will be explained in the full patch notes below. Full Warzone September 2 update patch notes This limited-time, Heroes-versus-Villains-themed Mode is currently live and available for all Players to experience until September 14th. We’ve made a couple of small adjustments that we think will help improve the experience: Event tokens now reward 200 points, up from 100 pointsThis applies to Event tokens acquired in other Modes as well – – Bombs and Defuse Kits have been reenabled in the Buy Station – GENERAL We’ve seen positive reactions to the “8-Bit Warfare” Mastercraft Bundle and the included “NOCLIP” EX1 (VG) Blueprint. That said, we’ve also heard feedback that Players have found the overlaid, low-framerate retro gaming filter to be overwhelming and, in some cases, even causing nausea. Tainted Minds take down Mindfreak to win first APAC CWL 2K of Black Ops 4 – Final Placements The first CWL 2K tournament of the Black Ops 4 season is now complete, with Tainted Minds taking first place in APAC tournament. Both the European and North American 2K tournaments will take place on November 4, concluding on November 5. Mindfreak, who made some major roster changes coming in to the Black Ops 4 season, were expected finalists for the first APAC 2K. Tainted Minds retained their four man roster from last season plus the addition of Jayden ‘Setzyy’ Hewitt from TabooESC and formerly Mindfreak Black. They also brought on board former pro player James ‘macka’ McKenzie as a coach for the roster, and it appears the additions have worked out so far, beating their rivals Mindfreak in the grand final. It was still a good showing overall from Mindfreak however, who still have time to gel as a roster, since the addition of Luke ‘Louqa’ Rigas and returning player Cody ‘Excite’ Rugolo. • T-Pain shuts down racist Call of Duty players in the best way possible – Dexerto

T-Pain shuts down racist Call of Duty players in the best way possible Instagram, @tpain / ActivisionIt can be hard to figure out how to deal with toxicity in Call of Duty: Warzone, but not for T-Pain. Encountering some racists in his lobby, the multi-talented artist absolutely shut them down in a perfect way. T-Pain has done it all. The rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer has won multiple Grammy awards, appeared in blockbuster movies, and now even streams on Twitch. But there’s another accolade to add to the mantle, as the talented creator single handedly sat down, and shut down, an entire lobby of racist CoD players. If you’ve played CoD, or online video games generally, you’re probably very familiar with what those lobbies can be like. Under the veil of internet anonymity, people are comfortable saying obscenities that they might not be so comfortable saying in person. It’s vile behavior and sometimes simply reporting their accounts in-game isn’t a satisfying-enough response. While loading into a game of Black Ops Cold War multiplayer, T-Pain was greeted with a “f**k Black Lives Matter,” followed by a series of racial slurs and other inappropriate language. Unbothered, the celebrity listened, took notice of their gamer tags, and then proceeded to shut them all up in beautifully satisfying fashion. After listening to the racist tirades, T-Pain loads into the map and lets his teammates know where his mindset is at: “I want all of them. I want every single f**king one of them.” One kill, two kills, three kills — the versatile musician proceeds to simply demolish the opposing team. And with every kill, his screams grow louder: “I want every single f**king one of them. I want it all. I want it all. I want every part of it. I want the whole thing.” And it doesn’t stop there, T-Pain continues to rack up kills and talk his talk all the way until the game ends. At that point, the gigantic “Victory” screen scrolls onto his screen and a big, red “Defeat” appears for his enemies. Once the match chat opens up during the score screen, T-Pain closes his response with some trash talk and a final “stupid idiots” for his enemies. And then comes the most satisfying part. Having spanked the racist lobby in-game, T-Pain’s trash talk elicits one thing from his formerly talkative enemies: silence.

  • T-Pain baffles audience with bizarre speech at CoD Vanguard premiere – Dexerto

T-Pain baffles audience with bizarre speech at CoD Vanguard premiere T-Pain’s speech at the world premiere of Call of Duty: Vanguard left the audience bemused, as the popular rapper took a moment to tell them to stop talking, in a perplexing yet hilarious few moments. The release of Call of Duty: Vanguard is just around the corner, and fans are eagerly waiting to get their hands on the game. The world premiere, which was held in downtown Los Angeles on November 3, was set to build up the hype. Vanguard’s premiere featured a host of popular rappers, with the likes of the Migos, T-Pain, Lil Tecca, and more in attendance. Some of Call of Duty’s biggest personalities and pros also got their hands on the game in head-to-head matches. T-Pain and CouRage were the hosts for the premiere, and it went smoothly, except for one speech from T-Pain that left the audience scratching their heads. Towards the end of the night, it was time for the reveal of Warzone Pacific, and T-Pain was on the job to introduce it. However, as he began his speech to announce the anticipated update, he got a little sidetracked. T-Pain began talking about taking a holiday in the Dominican Republic: “It’s the biggest release of the year. It’s the only island vacation I’m going to be taking, other than DR because prostitution is legal.” The rapper continued on with his speech, before telling the audience to be quiet. “Ladies and gentlemen… hold on, hold on. You’re all talking too much. No, can’t do it, you’re all talking too much. I want this to sound good, shh shh shh.” The audience listened to the rapper’s request and immediately hushed, allowing him to finish his speech in the dramatic style that he wanted. However, it did leave the crowd confused after abruptly being told to shut up by T-Pain. Overall, the event was a success. Vanguard’s premiere highlighted everything we can expect in the next year of CoD, as well as pros and streamers making light work of their celebrity opponents in the matches.

  • SypherPK explains why Fortnite should copy CoD: Warzone feature – Dexerto

SypherPK explains why Fortnite should copy CoD: Warzone feature Activision / YouTube: SypherPKWhile many of the top streamers and content creators have picked up Call of Duty: Warzone as their ‘main game’ in the weeks following its March 10 release, SypherPK, as a competitor, has stuck with Fortnite. That’s not to say that the popular streamer is not a fan of Call of Duty’s latest addition to the battle royale genre, there are clearly features he admires about it, which he went into detail about on his stream. For many players, Fortnite isn’t in its best state right now, having a decreasing player base thanks to plenty of issues with lag and much more competition from other titles, but Sypher thinks one Warzone feature, in particular, could help improve Fortnite to some degree. While speaking about some of the unique features of Warzone, speaking about contracts which the streamer thinks “would slap in Fortnite,” he went on to explain why currency would be so good in Fortnite. In Warzone currently, you can pick up cash to use to buy streaks, armor, self-revive kits or to pick up eliminated teammates, and Sypher has explained exactly how it would work in Fortnite. “Imagine you collect enough currency to buy shields or a launch pad,” he said. “For me, that just sounds really cool, and I think Epic might do something like that, because they’ve shown the gold currency in-game.” He finished his point by saying that he thinks “a system like that would work really well,” adding that it may be the gold coins that were once added to the game were a hint at things to come. The explanation came after he spoke about how hard it is to come across shields in Fortnite, saying that he once opened 17 chests in a game and got no shields from them Warzone has pulled together some of the greatest features of different battle royale titles and given it its own unique twist, so it might not be long before we see other games take some of Warzone’s best features – and the folks working on Fortnite will probably be keeping their eyes peeled for an opportunity.

  • Syndicate slams Dr Disrespect and CoD pros over Modern Warfare criticism – Dexerto

Syndicate slams Dr Disrespect and CoD pros over Modern Warfare criticism Popular streamer and YouTuber Tom ‘Call of Duty pro player Brian ‘Braaain’ Fairlamb over what he believes to be unfair criticism of Modern Warfare. Modern Warfare released on October 25 amid major hype, but since then players have complained about the game’s spawns, the maps, and the weapon balancing which have all been causing frustration for those playing. After weeks of criticism, it seems ProSyndicate has had enough, launching into a passionate defense of the game while criticizing fellow streamer Dr Disrespect, and getting into a heated argument with professional player Braaain. Following complaints from The Doc on November 5 about how claymores and shotguns were ruining the game, the Brit took aim at the streamer on November 6, tell him he needed to “man the f**k up” on the game. “I swear all you do is whine,” wrote the 26-year-old. “Don’t like something? Learn to counter it. You’re acting like the (One Man Army Grenade Launchers) on Modern Warfare 2 didn’t exist, or the M16 and 3x Frags on CoD4 never happened. Man up b*tch!” “Claymores my ass. Learn to run the right perk setups! Or even better, how about you design another map on stream which you think would be better so people can just camp on that as well.” Claymores my ass.. learn to run the right perk set ups! While Syndicate may be staunchly defending the game, others continue to criticize it, something which hasn’t gone unnoticed by Infinity Ward. The developers confirmed that they would be making changes to the game in a future update, with weapon tuning, spawn system, and play call-out logic all set for tweaks in the near future.

  • Syndicate proposes idea for US vs UK Modern Warfare Ground War event – Dexerto

Syndicate proposes idea for US vs UK Modern Warfare Ground War event Call of Duty YouTuber Tom ‘Syndicate’ Cassell has been drawing interest in an epic Modern Warfare “Ground War Invitational” – and huge names are already on board. Infinity Ward pushed the envelope with Modern Warfare’s iteration of Ground War by increasing the battlefield to accommodate teams two teams of 32 players for the first time in the franchise’s history. With the inaugural season of the CDL fast approaching, competitive players and audiences have been itching for the first taste of organized matches in the latest CoD entry. Now Syndicate’s looking to fill that void by possibly organizing a massive event filled with some of the biggest names in Call of Duty. “Bruh.. I wanna host the first-ever Call of Duty Ground War Invitational,” Syndicate said. “All your favourite COD streamers and YouTubers thrown into a 32v32 game.” The prize for the winning side would be a “generous donation” to the victor’s charity of choice, and what started as a suggestion has been attracting massive personalities in the space. BRUH. 32 v 32.UK vs USA Groundwar Invitational!@CallofDuty #ModernWarfare https://t.co/u0CkDGEdWa — Tom (@Syndicate) December 3, 2019 The event would be a showcase match between representatives of the United States and the United Kingdom. A fan chimed in with the idea of making it “US vs UK,” to which Syndicate replied: “I was legit just thinking that!” CoD has an enormous presence in both regions, and filling the server with top guns from the States and Kingdom would make for an incredible event. Popular CoD content creator and member of the CDL’s New York Subliners Doug ‘Censor’ Martin confirmed his interest in the event saying “I’m in,” as well as NA org eUnited. (Timestamp at 7:44 for mobile viewers) While not confirmed to go, Austin ‘Pamaj’ Pamajewon had a humorous back-and-forth with Syndicate which could serve as pre-event smack talk if the FaZe Clan member joins in on the friendly contest. No tanks or are we adapting cause I‘lol battlefield you fools so hard — OpTic Pamaj (@Pamaj) December 3, 2019 Even though Syndicate was just putting the possibility of the event forward, things got real when MLG legend and CEO of Esports Engine Adam ‘MrAdamAp’ Apicella told the YouTuber that he can “build” the event for him. It looks like the proposed event has a platform to be built on, and as far as a venue goes, President of Esports Stadium in Arlington, Jonathon Oudthone said they could even host it. What started as an idea is already coming together, so it might not be long before Syndicate puts together this Call of Duty event the likes of which have never been seen before.

  • Syndicate, Pamaj, Censor, more respond to Modern Warfare’s minimap issue – Dexerto

Syndicate, Pamaj, Censor, more respond to Modern Warfare’s minimap issue Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s multiplayer beta is now live, but with fans complaining that that the game is difficult to play without a minimap, a number of pro players and content creators have weighed in on the situation. The Modern Warfare multiplayer beta officially released on Thursday, September 12, giving fans of the long-running first-person shooter franchise their first opportunity to take to the battlefield and test their skills ahead of the game’s launch on October 25. The lack of minimap in the game has raised some eyebrows though, and a number of popular content creators and professional players have taken to social media to voice their frustrations with the decision. YouTuber Tom ‘Syndicate’ Cassell immediately started a campaign in the hopes of persuading Infinity Ward to revert their decision and bring back the useful tool that has been a staple of Call of Duty games. The Englishman wrote: “Like this tweet if you want a permanent minimap in Modern Warfare,” with over 3,000 people showing their support for the idea in just five hours. Like this tweet if you want a permanent mini map in #ModernWarfare — Tom (@ProSyndicate) September 13, 2019 FaZe Clan’s Austin ‘Pamaj’ Pamajewon shared his annoyance with the move, posting on Twitter that the game without a minimap meant “everyone on the map playing (like a) turtle,” by hiding and sitting in corners, while labeling it as “backwards.” “You don’t feel confident about running around cause of lack of minimap,” he continued. “That’s how everyone feels. There really isn’t a justified reason to take the minimap out.” No Minimap in Call Of Duty = Everyone on the map playing turtle We need Minimap. Ain’t the same — FaZe Pamaaj (@Pamaj) September 12, 2019 Its true. But what I’m saying is if YOU don’t feel confident about running around cause of lack of mini map. Thats how EVERYONE feels. It’s just so backwards and there really isn’t a true justified reason to take the Mini Map out. https://t.co/3KFZSFXPex — FaZe Pamaaj (@Pamaj) September 12, 2019 Trevor ‘TmarTn’ Martin chose to poll his followers instead, asking them if they thought the game needed a minimap, or if it was better off without it. Unsurprisingly, 76% of people felt the game absolutely needed it, although the YouTuber refrained from revealing his own thoughts on it. Now that you guys have played it.. does #ModernWarfare need a mini-map or no? — TmarTn (@TmarTn) September 12, 2019 Matthew ‘Skrapz’ Marshall made it clear how he feels about the lack of in-game map, posting a hilarious minute-long rant on Twitter detailing just how stunned he was that the beta was released without one. “Oh my fucking God, no fucking minimap?” the Brit fumed. “Who’s idea was that? I need to have a one-on-one conversation, just a proper talk. I want to know who come up with that! No minimap?” He continued: “Let’s just turn into hardcore, no such thing as core. What is this? 98% of my gameplay is the fucking minimap! I can’t even play pubs! CoD needs it bro. Bad idea. I don’t know how I’ve kept my shit (together), I really don’t. I’ve had to turn the beta off.” Doug ‘Censor’ Martin stated that his only issue with the beta was the lack of minimap, writing that it “needs to be in the game,” while Trei ‘Zer0’ Morris stated that if Infinity Ward decide to implement a minimap, he will be going to the developer’s studio to thank “every single one of them individually.” My only complaint with COD MW is no mini map. It NEEDS to be in the game. — FaZe Censor (@Censor) September 12, 2019 if i see a minimap on the BETA tomorrow, ill be going to the infinity ward studios and thanking every single one of them individually — (treiboi carti) (@TreiZer0) September 13, 2019 Justin ‘SiLLY’ Fargo explained that while gameplay, guns and movement all “seem great,” the decision to not include the tool was “horrendous,” but that adding it in, and unlocking a few more maps should make it great. Beta summary: gameplay, guns, movement seems great. Lack of minimap and maps are horrendous. When we have minimap+ some more maps should be a great game — NV Justin Fargo uwu (@silly702) September 13, 2019 Will Infinity Ward add the minimap? While frustrations continue about the lack of the map, it does seem that Infinity Ward is willing to listen to the criticism from fans, creators, and pro players alike, meaning we may see it introduced to the game sooner or later. In a Reddit post, communications manager Ashton Williams said that they heard the complaints “loud and clear,” and would be “experimenting internally with a few different options.” Whether those changes will be implemented during the beta remains to be seen, but it should give those who are annoyed by the current state of the game hope that the developers are taking their feedback onboard.

  • Syndicate lashes out at CoD devs for “failing” the franchise – Dexerto

Syndicate lashes out at CoD devs for “failing” the franchise SyndicateCall of Duty YouTube star Syndicate has hit out at the Call of Duty devs, claiming they’ve failed the franchise. Call of Duty is a vastly different game from what it once was. From boots on the ground to jet packs and exo-suits, the popular first-person shooter has continuously changed in numerous ways over the past decade. Over the years, some fans have even lost their love for the franchise and have ultimately left for other games, but many are still sticking with CoD despite it in general not being in the best state right now. However, veteran Call of Duty YouTuber Syndicate has put the devs on blast, claiming they’ve failed the franchise. In a series of tweets on March 25, the long-time player noted how CoD was once his go-to game, but has changed since the devs began caring about money rather than gameplay. “I’ll be the one to say it how it is. @CallofDuty you used to be the head of the game,” the 29-year-old wrote. “You were the go-to game for me in my childhood. At least back then you knew how to carry a game and a franchise… but now all you care about is money not gameplay. YOU FAILED.” Syndicate continued: “I’m playing FORTNITE on my streams…. And having more fun. YOU ARE WORTH BILLIONS. IT’S EMBARRASSING. There was so much you could’ve done. But you didn’t. It’s sad you chose the shareholders over the players. And more so @Treyarch that’s at you. “Your lead developers in their fields left… and nothing you have done since then has been of substantial value. The Custom MOD community has added more value to the franchise than you have in the last 5 years… It’s a joke.” He added: “Pull your god damn finger out.” The feeling is also mutual among the community, with CoD fans “livid” at state of Warzone 2 & MW2, meanwhile, Fortnite continues to thrive and CSGO shines following Counter-Strike 2’s announcement.

  • Syndicate invited to “secret” game company in LA, hinting at MW4 reveal date – Dexerto

Syndicate invited to “secret” game company in LA, hinting at MW4 reveal date Life of Tom YouTubeCall of Duty fans have been feeling the collective anticipation for the announcement of the next mainline entry to the legendary franchise, and YouTuber Tom ‘Syndicate’ Cassell’s mysterious arrival in Los Angeles is heating up the discussions. Activision is known for its full on media blitz when it comes to announcing and hyping up their next iterations of Call of Duty. With the next title strongly being rumored to be Modern Warfare 4, fans have been eyeing CoD content creators who’ve been flocking to Los Angeles for a secret preview for a game. Syndicate is prominently known in the Call of Duty community, and his classified trip to Southern California comes at a peculiar time seeing as fans have been expecting Activision to pull back the curtain for their next CoD very soon. As some might remember, Black Ops 4 started to get teased to the public back in March 2018 with a full reveal soon following it up in May. The title before that helmed by Sledgehammer Games, Call of Duty: WWII, was fully revealed at the tail end of April 2017. Making some in the community to think it’s no coincidence for Syndicate to be heading where both Activision HQ and Infinity Ward are located. “Now I’m not allowed to say yet until Thursday who’s flown me out here,” Syndicate said. “…I’m just out here to check something out. I’ve just been invited to see something. No work, no nothing like that. Just, come on out.” Similarly, Italian YouTuber and former CoD pro Leonardo ‘VeloX’ Nioi said he was going to LA responding to speculation on his trip saying: “Exactly I couldn’t tell you but I was invited as a fan! (Timestamp at 17:17 for mobile viewers) Everything we know about Modern Warfare 4 While it’s not confirmed that Activision’s next game will be Modern Warfare 4, there have been damning rumors and comments popping up that strongly suggest a sequel to Modern Warfare 3 is on the way. From NFL players straight up name-dropping the popular line of CoD titles after previewing the game, to former Call of Duty devs dropping small hints. Regardless, we already know the deadline for when the major Call of Duty announcement has to come out, much to the relief of the community. Syndicate said that come Thursday, May 16 he’ll be able to reveal a bit more details on his trip to Los Angeles, which could be the rallying call for anyone eager to find out more about the next Call of Duty.

  • YouTuber Syndicate hints at Modern Warfare 4 reveal date after secret LA trip – Dexerto

YouTuber Syndicate hints at Modern Warfare 4 reveal date after secret LA trip Instagram: Syndicate/Infinity WardPopular British YouTuber Tom ‘Syndicate’ Cassell has hinted that we could only be a week or two from the next Call of Duty reveal, after eagle-eyed Reddit users matched a building in his latest vlog to the headquarters of Infinity Ward. Syndicate was in Los Angeles to engage in a number of “secret” meetings. In a vlog entitled ‘THE MISSION WAS IMPOSSIBLE’, uploaded on May 17, Syndicate discusses the meetings he has just attended at an unknown location in Burbank, Los Angeles. “The secret meetings were secret,” he teases. “I can’t believe I’ve just gone to be able to do something, but now I’m not allowed to talk about it, until the 30th. Sad face. I feel like I’ve got Willy Wonka’s golden ticket but I’m not allowed to tell anyone about it.” Timestamp at [3:09] for mobile users Call of Duty YouTubers invited to Los Angeles There has been speculation surrounding the latest Call of Duty game for a few months now, with all signs pointing towards Modern Warfare 4. Speculation has now grown even more, after a number of popular Call of Duty YouTubers were invited to Los Angeles for a series of secret meetings, which Reddit users have confirmed took place at Infinity Ward’s offices. As Syndicate vlogs in the back of a car after the meetings, a bright building with reflective blue windows is visible, which Reddit users have matched up to images of Infinity Ward’s offices in Burbank. The detective work of Reddit users didn’t go unnoticed, as Senior Game Designer at Infinity Ward, Steve Holmes, joked that “You guys crack me up”. He did not confirm or deny whether the YouTubers’ meetings took place at Infinity Ward. When will the next CoD game be revealed? Also, the fact Syndicate has revealed that he is allowed to talk about the meetings on the 30th, suggests that we will get a community reveal around that date, which is less than two weeks away – at the time of writing. Black Ops 4 was announced on March 8, 2018, so we are already a couple of months later in the previous games life cycle, with no announcement. However, Black Ops 4 was released in October, a month prior to Call of Duty traditional November release. This has led to many community members believing that the next Call of Duty game – whatever it is – will be released in November or later, given the delay in announcing the game. Developers Infinity Ward have seen their two latest games, 2013’s Ghosts and 2016’s Infinite Warfare, receive community criticism, and it is widely believed that there next game will turn back the clock and see a fourth instalment in the acclaimed Modern Warfare series.

  • Syndicate flames Vanguard Zombies after early access: “Absolute L” – Dexerto

Syndicate flames Vanguard Zombies after early access: “Absolute L” YouTube: SyndicateCall of Duty YouTuber Syndicate flamed Vanguard Zombies after getting early access to the mode and claims it’s an “absolute L” for the Zombies community. Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: Vanguard releases on November 5 and will feature one of the franchise’s most popular game modes: Zombies. For the first time ever, developers are helping each other as Treyarch are in charge of the mode. The company has been known for Zombies where players attempt to survive for as many rounds as possible, with each one getting harder. While Black Ops 4’s iteration wasn’t beloved by the community, Treyarch were able to revive it with Black Ops Cold War. However, popular Zombies content creator Tom ‘Syndicate’ Cassell isn’t holding back as this year’s mode is set to launch without any round-based maps. Syndicate calls out Treyarch for Vanguard Zombies One of Zombies’ biggest players of all time is Syndicate, as he became well known from his round 115 video back on Black Ops 1’s Kino Der Toten. While the game is popular for its high rounds and insane intensity, Treyarch are moving away from that to focus on objective-based gameplay like Outbreak. And Syndicate is not happy. Call of Duty Vanguard Zombies is an absolute L that has been handed to the community. 3/10 if that. Worse than BO4 Zombies without a doubt. @Treyarch @CallofDuty You had a simple formula that worked! Round based waves, that get harder and harder. How did we get this.. — Tom (@Syndicate) November 4, 2021 Not only does he call out Treyarch, he puts them on blast as he claims this is “an absolute L that has been handed to the community.” Also, he said they seem to have forgotten the “formula that worked.” Syndicate is referring to the formula of replayable round-based maps that let you try and survive for as long as possible. Zombies started on Nacht der Untoten, where there were three rooms, a couple of wall buys, and a mystery box. That simple method has worked for years and Treyarch have built on that standard, until this year. (Topic starts at 1:35:31 for mobile viewers) The YouTuber was able to get early access to Der Anfang and needless to say he was quite disappointed as he believes this is worse than Black Ops 4’s Zombies (which was highly disliked by the community). Not only that, he finds it weird that Treyarch decided to take the game in this direction. “Call of Duty Zombies by Treayach is a round-based survival mode where you try to go further and further and try to be at your previous score,” he said. However, Der Anfang takes away all the fundamentals that Zombies was built on. Even though Treyarch may be paving the way for a different style of gameplay, they did say that round-based maps have not been forgotten. So maybe fans will need to be patient as classic maps could be returning in the near future.

  • Syndicate shares controversial take on Modern Warfare multiplayer – Dexerto

Syndicate shares controversial take on Modern Warfare multiplayer One of the most prolific Call of Duty content creators has some surprising opinions on the current state of Modern Warfare. Infinity Ward’s return to Call of Duty released on October 25 and players around the world have been coming to grips with the latest iteration in the series. From some questionable map designs to audio complaints and more, the Modern Warfare community has been divided since release, but Thomas ‘ProSyndicate’ Cassell chimed in with a unique take. First rising to internet stardom with his enthralling Call of Duty Zombies content, Syndicate explained why 2019’s Modern Warfare is already sitting among his top 3 titles of all time. With “1 day [and] 10 hours playtime,” the YouTube star went against the grain and offered some surprising opinions on the more controversial topics in the community. “Dead Silence DOES NOT need to be a standalone perk,” he expressed. Arguing that “people just need to learn to adjust to the playstyle from an audio perspective.” The Field Upgrade was recently the cause of much frustration as it failed to work as intended prior to an October 28 fix. In previous entries, Dead Silence minimized the sound of your footsteps, allowing players to flank at will with very little risk of being heard. In Modern Warfare however, Dead Silence can be found in the Field Upgrade slot, making it a rechargeable ability rather than an always active perk. Many professional players demanded the mechanic be re-worked as a perk, yet Syndicate has supported the function in its current form. I’ve been in scenarios where I had no idea someone was there & my character said “they’re down in the valley”, causing me to double take and then spotting the enemy! Yes it actually helps! But is almost cheating. Dead silence DOES NOT need to be a standalone perk. — Tom Spookdicate (@ProSyndicate) October 28, 2019 Discussing similarly controversial sound design issues in the game, Syndicate explained how “the sound is actually ok [at the moment]” but that Infinity Ward definitely needs “to fix the enemy call outs.” Read more: Best M4A1 loadouts in Modern Warfare – “I’ve been in scenarios where I had no idea someone was there & my character said ‘they’re down in the valley,’ causing me to double take and then spotting the enemy! Yes it actually helps! But is almost cheating.” Despite some further feedback on the large-scale Ground War game-type, such as potentially removing helicopters from Tavorsk Bridge, the content creator rounded out his in-depth discussion by stating that “All in all, I’m loving the game! 9/10!“ My feedback for #ModernWarfare after 1 day 10 hours playtime. Tanks should not be allowed on the hill in ground war. + should have a slower respawn rate. (Even potentially remove the hill) The skyscraper map needs to not allow players to be ontop of every building. — Tom Spookdicate (@ProSyndicate) October 28, 2019 One of the most heated talking points in the Call of Duty community since the release of Modern Warfare has centered around clunky map design. Syndicate refused to comment on that matter and instead focused his thoughts on some of the more easily fixable issues in the game today. Infinity Ward has been quick to issue updates since the release, so it’s safe to say more and more feedback will continue to see changes implemented across the board.

  • Symfuhny’s Warzone DMR 14 loadout is ridiculously overpowered – Dexerto

Symfuhny’s Warzone DMR 14 loadout is ridiculously overpowered Twitch: Symfuhny/Activision/TreyarchThe integration of Black Ops Cold War into Warzone has brought a range of new weapons to the game. One gun that has stood out from the pack and established itself in the meta is the DMR 14. Let’s check Symfuhny’s deadly loadout that’ll help you dominate your Warzone matches. It’s fair to say the Black Ops Cold War guns had an underwhelming start in the Warzone meta. At release, there was no muzzle option for the weapons that matched the power of the Monolithic Suppressor available on Modern Warfare’s guns. Luckily, the developers buffed the Agency Silencer and this has allowed certain Cold War weapons to thrive. Perhaps the best example of this is the DMR 14, which is quickly establishing itself as one of the most powerful guns in the game. Its ability to take down enemies at medium range is unmatched, killing an opponent with just two bullets to the head. Of course, dominating with the DMR 14 is only possible with the correct loadout. Well, luckily for us, Symfuhny revealed his complete DMR 14 loadout on stream. Symfuhny’s deadly DMR 14 loadout Twitch streamer and content creator Symfuhny has revealed his DMR 14 loadout on stream and it’s fair to say it packs a punch. If you’re looking for a loadout with a fast time to kill and a lot of damage, then this Tactical Rifle may be perfect for you. Here’s exactly how you should kit out your DMR 14 to get the most out of the weapon: Optic: Axial Arms 3x – Muzzle: Agency Silencer – Underbarrell: Field Agent Foregrip – Barrel: 20.8 Task Force – Ammunition: 30 Rnd – This is a loadout that focuses on allowing the DMR 14 to effectively take down opponents at medium to long-range. For starters, the buffs to the Agency Silencer have arguably been the most beneficial to the rifle. The attachment provides the DMR 14 with an increased damage range and allows you to remain unseen on the minimap. This is paired with the 20.8 Task Force barrel which steps up the gun’s damage to another level. Read More: NICKMERCS powerful AK47u Warzone loadout – The addition of the Axial Arms 3x is the perfect optic for medium-range gunfights, but also allows the weapon to perform at close-range if necessary. Finally, the Field Agent Foregrip controls the weapon’s recoil, while the 30 Rnd magazine provides you with extra ammo. Of course, it’s all well and good saying how great the weapon is in Warzone, but it’s better to have a bit of proof. Well, here’s a clip of Symfuhny tearing his opponents down from range with the DMR 14 in-game. It’s difficult to say whether the DMR 14 will be receiving any nerfs at some point in the future. It seems a little overtuned at the moment, but we’ll have to see what the developers think in the next upcoming patch. Hopefully, this has set you up with a DMR 14 loadout that will help you win more Warzone matches and dominate your opponents.

Symfuhny’s trio wins $100K ROKKR Royale Warzone tourney: final placements Minnesota RokkrCall of Duty League’s Minnesota ROKKR hosted their second ROKKR Royale, the first massive Warzone tournament in Season 6, that featured many of the top streamers and pro players battling it out for a share of a $100,000 prize pool. We’ve got everything you need to catch up on the action. There has been plenty of competitive action so far on Warzone, as many of the top content creators have turned to Call of Duty’s battle royale, taking part in the different tournaments that have been hosted in recent months. CDL team Minnesota ROKKR hosted the first the “ROKKR Royale” back in April, and have since brought it back with an increased prize pool and even more top streamers and Call of Duty pro players. Now that Season 6 is live in Warzone, along with the brand new subway system and all the other changes, it was the perfect time to see who from the battle royale’s elite could be the first to dominate. ROKKR Royale Warzone Tournament Recap After a delay to the event due to the shaky launch of Season 6, the ROKKR Royale event properly got underway on September 30. Stacked Trios took to Verdansk for a few hours to determine who would make it through to the final four. Throughout the initial portion, only the best four games for each team was taken into consideration. As a result, those that were able to chase down eliminations and secure some wins were given a sizeable lead. A handful of veteran players and prominent Warzone tournament winners bowed out early in this event. From Chicago Huntsmen’s Formal to Tfue’s squad and plenty others. Cracking the 300-point mark was a feat only accomplished by 13 teams and this is where things got tight. The difference between the top of that pack and the bottom was barely a few kills. Ultimately, it was Symfuhny, Tommey, Frozone, and Swagg who led their Trios into the final rounds, however. After some extremely close lobbies and a handful of wins, it was Shmfuhny, HusKers, and Zlaner who proved to be the strongest of the top four. Just two points separated them from the second-place team of Swagg, Booya, and Superevan. Additionally, the team of TTinyy, Rallied, and Mayappo_ won $10,000 for achieving the most eliminations throughout the day at 78 kills. • Symfuhny’s team wins $150K Twitch Rivals Warzone: final placements – Dexerto

Symfuhny’s team wins $150K Twitch Rivals Warzone: final placements Infinity Ward[jwplayer JuxjkwKW] Twitch Rivals hosted a massive Call of Duty: Warzone tournament to celebrate the recent launch of Modern Warfare Season 5, and we’ve got everything you need to catch up on all of the action. There’s no denying that Warzone has been one of the most popular games since its launch back in May, so much so that it’s also become a fan-favorite for competitive events as well. Following Toronto Ultra’s own $100,000 tournament the week prior, Twitch Rivals organized an even bigger competition spanning both the North American and European regions. Twitch Rivals Warzone NA Recap While a majority of Warzone tournaments pit teams against each other in rapid kill races, the latest Twitch Rivals event mixed things up. Rather than two duos loading into a match together and chasing kills, this event saw teams of three pushing for points at all costs. Eliminations award points but the absolute best way to bump your score was to survive through until the end of a match. Winning a match worked out as the equivalent of 25 eliminations, for instance. As a result, teams were playing a little more passive and choosing which gunfights to take. As only the top three games counted, teams were giving it their all throughout the first two and a half hours. Ultimately, it was a few familiar faces that made it through to the final portion of the NA event, however. Read More: How to find new Gas Mask secretly added to Warzone in Season 5 75 points was the absolute worst scoreline across the finals. Meaning that the weakest performance still saw a trio closing out a win along with 50 combined kills to boot. Things were neck and neck throughout the finals and two of the four teams even tied in terms of points. Team Aydan and Team Metaphor both finished at 358 points, though Aydan’s squad was locked into the second place due to the total kill difference. Ultimately, it was Team Symfuhny that closed out the win with the best performance throughout the event. Not only that, but they also secured prize bonuses for the most kills in a single game at 77, along with the most damage done at 113k. Twitch Rivals Warzone NA Final Placements (Top 8) When was the Twitch Rivals Warzone NA finals? With the European half of the event wrapped up, attention flipped to the North American finals, which took place on Thursday, August 13, having kicked off at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET. Format & rules This Twitch Rivals Warzone event was a Trios tournament split into two parts. The first was a two hour and 30 minute timed portion during which teams tried to get as many high-scoring games as they could, with only the top three matches counting towards their overall score. After this phase was over, the top four scoring teams then advanced to the finals, which followed the same concept except it was only 45 minutes, with those points being added to the teams’ scores from the first half. Here was the scoring structure used today: Victory: 25 Points (+5) – Reach Top 2: 20 Points (+5) – Reach Top 3: 15 Points (+5) – Reach Top 4: 10 Points (+3) – Reach Top 7: 7 Points (+3) – Reach Top 10: 4 Points (+2) – Reach Top 15: 2 Points (+1) – Reach Top 20: 1 Point (+1) – Each Elimination = +1 Point – If there were any ties in the leaderboard, the following tiebreaker system was used: Total Victories in Time Limit – Total Kills in Time Limit – Avg. Placement in All Games – Total Points Scored in All Games – Prize breakdown The $150,000 overall prize pool was split in half for the two regions, with NA and EU getting $75,000 each. Warzone tournaments have become a fixture in the Call of Duty battle royale community since the game’s release back in March, and TeeP, as one of the title’s biggest streamers, plays a central role in that. TeeP’s Trials have been very popular among fans so the 2014 World Champion has returned with another running of the competition. The event featured big-name content creators battling it out for a slice of the $15,000 prize pool. Teep’s Trials Warzone event recap No different from earlier weeks in Teep’s massive Warzone event, some of the most popular streamers matched up early with veteran CoD competitors. Upsets came through from the opening rounds as the likes of Tfue and Cloakzy along with Nadeshot and exzachtt were knocked down to the lower bracket early. Even the $100K Toronto Ultra event winner NICKMERCS found himself in the losers bracket after falling short in the very first round of action. Many former Warzone champions couldn’t quite keep up on Verdansk today as the Season 5 competition seemed more fierce than ever. Scorelines were neck and neck for most duos but no matchup was closer than Karma & ScummN vs Symfuhny & HusKerrs. Once they dropped into battle again in the closing round of the day, however, the difference between the teams was razor-thin. The teams matched up against each other in each round of the bracket must queue into a Quads match together, meaning they’re opponents for the purposes of the event even though they’re technically teammates in-game. In the Winners Bracket, matches are two games of Warzone each, with the duo that gets the more eliminations through both games advancing to the next round. The same concept applies for the Losers Bracket, except those matches are only a single game. The winners of the Winners Bracket and Losers Bracket then meet in the Grand Final, but the latter needs to win two separate matches (four games total) to be crowned champions, while the former needs only one victory. In case of any ties, one additional game is played where the first duo to hit 10 kills is the winner, and if no one manages to get that many, the team that ends up with the more eliminations advances. There’s also this major rule in case Jailbreak in-game event occurs: If a duo is fully eliminated and have no Gulag attempts left and the in-game event “Jailbreak” occurs. Upon re-deploying because of this event, the duo who was fully eliminated before this event was initiated in-game must immediately eliminate themselves. Players that have been re-deployed because of this CANNOT float around in their parachutes or accumulate or attempt to accumulate further eliminations. Doing so may result in a forfeit. Any eliminations accumulated by the eliminated team will not count. To eliminate yourself upon re-deploy due to “Jailbreak” being activated, open your parachute and immediate cut the cord to your parachute. Doing this will cause your character to fall straight to the ground and eliminate yourself. As for the prize breakdown, the $15,000 prize pool will be split between the top-four placing teams, with the winner receiving a whopping $7,000! 1st Place: $7,000 – 2nd Place: $5,000 – 3rd Place: $2,000 – 4th Place: $1,000 –

  • Symfuhny showcases insane CR-56 AMAX class for Warzone Season 5 – Dexerto

Symfuhny showcases insane CR-56 AMAX class for Warzone Season 5 Popular Warzone content creator and Twitch streamer Mason ‘Symfuhny’ Lanier has shared a CR-56 AMAX loadout, which he describes as the “strongest” weapon in the game’s ongoing Season 5. While Season 5 started with the Bruen LMG as far and away Verdansk’s most powerful weapon, various buffs, nerfs and meta changes have seen other weapons come to the forefront. One of these is the CR-56 AMAX, the Season 4 assault rifle which fires fairly slowly, but retains stronger handling and mobility compared to the Oden or AK-47. Considered by many to be a viable weapon, it has not come to rule the roost in the way the Bruen or Grau did in seasons past. However, in a September 11 YouTube video, popular Warzone and Modern Warfare content creator Symfuhny shared a CR-56 loadout that he considers the “strongest” weapon class for the ongoing Season 5. The first attachment is the Monolithic Suppressor, the attachment that has become an absolute must-have for all Warzone weapons. It boosts range, while simultaneously keeping players off the map. Pair this with the heavier XRK Zodiac S440 barrel, and recoil control and damage range are augmented to a significant degree. The Commando Foregrip and 45 Round Mags are the next attachments, stabilizing shots and giving users more bullets to throw the way of enemies. Finally, Sym’s optic of choice is the Corp Combat Holo Sight but, realistically, this can be swapped out for anything of your choice. We’d recommend retaining the optic because the AMAX’s moderate recoil can make the iron sights unusable at longer ranges. The versatility of the AMAX means that, in overkill classes, you can pretty much take whatever weapon you please. There’s probably no point choosing another AR though, so we’d recommend an SMG or sniper rifle depending on how you like to play Warzone. Symfuhny’s full CR-56 AMAX loadout is detailed below: Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor – Barrel: XRK Zodiac S440 – Optic: Corp Combat Holo Sight – Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip – Ammunition: 45 Round Mags – Whether you stick with this loadout is ultimately up to you, but any gun that can be classed as the strongest in Warzone is certainly worth trying at least once.

  • Symfuhny reveals “only” Milano loadout you need in Warzone Season 4 – Dexerto

Symfuhny reveals “only” Milano loadout you need in Warzone Season 4 Symfuhny / ActivisionWarzone streamer Mason ‘Symfuhny’ Lanier has unveiled his Season 4 Milano 821 loadout, promising that the close-range SMG build is the only loadout you’ll need. Despite struggling to make any noticeable impact in Warzone before Season 4, the high-damage, slow-firing Black Ops Cold War SMG has exploded in the latest season of CoD’s battle royale. It’s not as popular as some of Season 4’s meta weapons – the FARA 83 and the Krig 6 – but its damage up close makes it a monster if players can consistently connect their shots. Thankfully, because of the gun’s moderate but predictable recoil, this isn’t nearly as challenging as it could be. As one of Warzone’s foremost content creators, Symfuhny is uniquely qualified to recommend weapon loadouts and, after dropping 44 kills with his new Milano loadout, his opinion seems justified. The Milano loadout being used is the Flower Power variant, which pairs subtlety with speed, meaning players can make the most of its close-range damage. Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Stock: Tactical Stock – Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip – Ammunition: Vandal Speed Loader – Optic: SnapPoint – As previously mentioned, this class relies on speed and mobility, rather than looking to minimize the weapon’s recoil or extend its range. If you want to swap out the optic then that’s your call, with the SnapPoint being one attachment Sym has changed in Twitch streams. With such a strong close-range weapon as the Milano, most players would opt for a longer-range weapon, like the Kilo 141 or even the Kar98k. Sym, though, goes for the Paint Splatter variant of the semi-automatic Gallo SA12 shotgun. It makes the overall loadout incredibly strong up close, but lacking a lot at distance. As such, players will have to adjust their play styles and get up close and personal with almost all enemies. After that, though, you’ll be set for any combat you find yourself in.
