Popular Owen Gun stealth nerfed in Warzone May 4 patch according to TrueGameData Treyarch/ActivisionWarzone expert and YouTuber TrueGameData has revealed that the Owen Gun was stealth nerfed in the May 4 patch, lowering its TTK. When it comes to picking an SMG in Warzone Season 3 Classified Arms, there are two options that stand out from the crowd, the MP40 and the Owen Gun. Both these guns are absolutely lethal at close quarters and provide a huge amount of mobility, making them ideal choices alongside a long-range AR. Despite this, a hidden change to the Owen Gun in the May 4 patch may affect its popularity going forward, as the update appears to have lowered its TTK. According to Warzone expert TrueGameData, Raven Software has “stealth nerfed” the Owen Gun in the recent patch by changing a set of attachments used by the SMG. Owen Gun “stealth nerfed” in May 4 Warzone patch According to TrueGameData, the popular Owen Gun was stealth nerfed in the May 4 patch and Raven Software has yet to explain why. The changes have directly affected the weapon’s default magazine and the Rapid Barrel that’s commonly used in meta loadouts. This has shifted the damage values of the gun, pushing it down from 50 to 49 on upper body shots and 35 to 34 on the lower body. Although this seems relatively minor, as the fire rate of the Owen Gun is slow compared to other SMGs, this has heavily affected the gun’s TTK. Owen Gun default magazine + Rapid Barrel confirmed stealth nerfed, now does 49, 34 rather than 50, 35 Huge nerf actually given that changes the TTK dramatically and it is a relatively slow shooting weapon Still good though, and 8mm ammo will push it over that 50 damage pic.twitter.com/eDvawej9WO — 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 (@TrueGameData) May 4, 2022 Despite these changes, TrueGameData still believes the Owen Gun is a strong choice in Warzone, but it may be worth running the 8mm ammunition attachment to push it back up to its original TTK. It’s hard to know whether Raven made these changes deliberately or will revert them in the near future, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Popular MW3 mode “unplayable” as one weapon dominates & it’s getting worse – Dexerto
Popular MW3 mode “unplayable” as one weapon dominates & it’s getting worse ActivisionModern Warfare 3 players are furious with grenade launchers ruining a popular mode, and it looks like things might get worse in future seasons. Over the last few months, MW3 players have complained about a number of weapons – especially those they consider to be a bit broken. That’s included the likes of the MTZ Interceptor, Longbow, and Ram-7, as they’ve all dominated in multiplayer and Warzone. Those weapons have all been nerfed at one point or another, but those changes always leave a gap for something else to take hold. And, most recently, the grenade launcher – the RGL-80 – has been filling that space, especially in Hardcore game modes. Hardcore fans have complained about the launcher ruining lobbies, especially in Search and Destroy, as the start of games just becomes a spam fest of missiles. Yet, things look like they’re going to get worse in Season 4. MW3’s Grenade Launcher has leaked part that will buff it While players have called for nerfs to grenade launcher because of how “annoying” they’ve made Hardcore in particular, leakers have found an Aftermarket Part for it. The Aftermarket Part, which doesn’t have a name yet, appears to allow the launcher to fire different projectiles, including Drill Charges, Semtex Grenades, and an airburst grenade that would explode, well, in the air, above enemies. There is also a slug attachment, making the launcher similar to a shotgun. “Using a six shot drill charge as a secondary in Warzone is gonna be hilarious,” one player said. “No one asked for this lmao,” another added. “The game’s decision-makers are clearly out of step with the players,” commented another. Some players added that hardcore multiplayer lobbies are already “unplayable” thanks to the grenade launcher and would be completely “cooked” if the leaked part comes to fruition. We’ll have to wait and see if the launcher is nerfed in future updates too, as it’s clearly annoying players in its current state – never mind with a buff.

Popular MW2 AR is top meta pick in Warzone Resurgence – Dexerto
Popular MW2 AR is top meta pick in Warzone Resurgence ActivisionOne of Modern Warfare 2’s most popular Assault Rifles is becoming a popular option in Warzone again thanks to its rapid TTK, but some players are still sleeping on it. When Modern Warfare 3 launched back in November, guns from the previous game – Modern Warfare 2 – were immediately put on the back burner for Call of Duty fans. Sure, some fans still used them, but those MW2 weapons couldn’t match the power of their newer counterparts from MW3. Well, fast forward a few seasons, and the older guns are having a bit of a resurgence in, well, Warzone’s Resurgence mode. Rifles like the M16, TR-76 Geist, and Chimera have been highlighted by a number of top Warzone players recently, and there is no slowing down when it comes to picking up the old guns. In fact, Warzone guru WhosImmortal has highlighted another alongside the M16, and that is the Kastov 545. “Really its close and mid-range areas are so effective meaning that, for Resgurgence gameplay, this is a prime choice because it’s going to put enemies down so quick,” the YouTuber said in his June 19 video. “It’s also ridiculously easy to control as well.” Like many of the other MW2 loadouts right now, WhosImmortal suggests using the 5.45 High Grain ammunition as well as the VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor barrel and Nydar Model 2023 optic. Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor – Barrel: IG-K30 406mm – Optic: Nydar Model 2023 – Magazine: 60-round mag – Ammunition: 5.45 High Grain – Timestamp of 4:26 The Warzone guru noted that it could be used as a sniper support option, however, it’s better to use it as an “aggressive” run-and-gun type rifle instead. We’ve seen a few Assault Rifles being used as SMGs in Season 4, and the Kastov could fit that mold but don’t just get tunnel visioned on the close-quarters fights. Its TTK sits around 736 ms in fights between 30 and 40 meters, so don’t let that power go to waste.

Popular MW2 AR is one of Warzone’s easiest to use guns but it’s underused – Dexerto
Popular MW2 AR is one of Warzone’s easiest to use guns but it’s underused ActivisionA popular Modern Warfare 2 assault rifle is one of the easiest guns to control in Warzone, making it a viable option. Yet, some players are still sleeping on it. Over the last few months, weapons from Modern Warfare 2 have been getting a bit more love than normal in Warzone. Sure, Modern Warfare 3 guns still run things at the top of the meta, but MW2 options are more than viable. The big knock on the older guns, though, relates to the visual clutter and screen shake that many of them produce. The smoke at the end of the gun barrel can be rather distracting in gunfights. However, if you can look past some of those issues, you’ll actually discover that they’re pretty easy. The best of which is the Kastov 762 with the JAK Requiem kit, as it doesn’t move at all. That’s according to Warzone guru WhosImmortal, as he highlighted the MW2 AR in his July 22 video. “You can shoot this and it’s going to end up not moving at all. It is 100% accurate. There is no shake, no up-and-down vertical recoil pattern,” the YouTuber said. “This thing is an absolute laser beam all things considered.” Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor – Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x – Ammunition: 7.62x39mm High Grain – Magazine: 40-round mag – Conversion Kit: JAK Requiem – Timestamp of 2:05 As noted, the JAK Requiem is the key attachment in the build, and while you can changes from the Corio Eagleseye optic to the JAK Glassless, you shouldn’t mess with much else. According to WZRanked stats, the Modern Warfare 2 rifle has started to climb the charts again and currently sits as the 15th most popular weapon. The upcoming Season 5 update could obviously change things, but you’ve still got plenty of time to run wild with the Kastov 762 until then.

Popular MW2 AR has “insane” TTK in Warzone after buffs – Dexerto
Popular MW2 AR has “insane” TTK in Warzone after buffs ActivisionAn assault rifle from Modern Warfare 2, which had previously been pretty popular in Warzone, actually has an “insane” TTK these days after some buffs. When the integration between Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone first happened, a fair bit was carried forward from the previous game, Modern Warfare 2. However, weapons from MW2 were given the cold shoulder in the early going. Plenty of fans complained that the older guns were “unusable” compared to their newer counterparts, urging the devs to make some much-needed changes. Over the last few updates, weapons from Modern Warfare 2 have gotten some love and are back in the meta conversation once again. The TR-76 Geist, which dominated the battle royale for a good period after being added to Modern Warfare 2, is one of those that is back on the rise after receiving some buffs in previous MW3 updates. “Especially for Resurgence style gameplay, this is a great, great rifle choice. Relatively easy to use and it’s close to mid-range TTK is insane,” Warzone guru WhosImmortal said in his April 22 video on the best MW2 weapons in the battle royale. He noted that it’s incredibly “reliable” and that’s because the AR “has seen some buffs across the last couple of updates” which makes it a “phenomenal” option as well. Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor – Barrel: Bruen Bridle Heavy – Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support – Optic: MK.3 Reflector – Magazine: 45-round mag – Timestamp of 5:11 As noted, the Geist isn’t the only gun from Modern Warfare 2 that has been hyped up recently. WhosImmortal has also shown some love to the FTAC Recon, even though that only comes with a maximum ammo capacity of 15 rounds. The STB-556 has also been hailed as the “#1 meta” weapon choice from MW2, but it also lacks the ammo capacity to really take over.

Rallied is one of the most recognizable figures in the competitive CoD community, known for playing and streaming Search and Destroy tournaments and wagers. With over 84,000 followers on Twitch and another 45,000+ on Twitter, he is easily one of the bigger full-time streamers the community has to offer. “11 years I’ve been playing CoD. 11 years I had so many highs and lows, from winning 700+ tournaments, to giving up almost everything I made at 18 to prevent being homeless, to creating an amazing stream community,” he tweeted. “Through all adversity, I’m so proud to say I have joined OpTic Gaming.” 11 years I’ve been playing CoD. Through all adversity I’m so proud to say I have joined @OpTicGaming — Rallied (@RalDaddy) December 20, 2018 At one point, Rallied’s dreams went beyond just being a CoD content creator, as he briefly tried his hand at attempting to become a professional player during the previous WWII season. However, after very low placings at four consecutive domestic major tournaments, he realized that his destiny will always be to stream full-time, playing S&D tournies and wagers while providing entertainment to viewers. Poll reveals how CoD players want SBMM changed in Black Ops Cold War – Dexerto
Poll reveals how CoD players want SBMM changed in Black Ops Cold War Activision[jwplayer QkvtNtzX] Skill-based matchmaking, otherwise known as SBMM, has been a huge talking point in the Call of Duty community over the past year, and a recent Dexerto poll might show how CoD fans want it to be tweaked. Skill-based matchmaking is a feature that’s been on most Call of Duty players’ minds, as of late. In basic terms, SBMM matches players in online lobbies with others of a similar skill level, taking into account factors like K/D ratio, score per minute, etc. This feature has been the subject of a lot of controversy over the past year. While every Call of Duty since Black Ops 2 has had SBMM in some way, shape, or form, Modern Warfare was well-documented as having some of the strongest in recent memory, and in just the regular modes, no less. The topic flared up again during the recent Black Ops Cold War Alpha weekend, as higher-level players quickly realized that the matchmaking system was pitting them against similarly skilled opponents, turning what should have been fun, casual matches into ‘sweat-fests.’ In light of this, Dexerto conducted a public poll to which over 83,000 replied. The poll, which asked “does SBMM belong in Call of Duty matches?” offered four choices: Yes, it’s necessary – Yes, but turn it down – Ranked playlist only – No SBMM at all – A whopping 51.2 percent of voters went with the third person, suggesting that Activision limit that sort of matchmaking strictly to ranked playlists only, such as League Play, which already features strong SBMM 24.6% want it completely gone, 18.4% don’t mind it across all game modes as long as it’s effects are turned down a bit, and the smallest group (5.9%) are fine with just the way it is. While we don’t know for sure, but it’s likely that the 5.9% was from the lower end of the skill spectrum – players who don’t want to suffer from facing top players without any SBMM to protect them. After all, that’s really why Activision’s keeping in such a system anyway. Does SBMM belong in Call of Duty public matches? — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) September 22, 2020 Unfortunately, whether players like it or not, SBMM will likely never be removed from Call of Duty or even addressed in any official capacity by Activision and the developers. Read more: Black Ops Cold War needs serious work – To this day, despite numerous experiments and personal experiences practically proving that the system exists, the publishers have not even acknowledged it. Of course, you can never say never, and the CoD community has proven in the past that with enough feedback and backlash, they can make a positive changes in Call of Duty.

Police concerned about the whereabouts of former pro Call of Duty player Brandon ‘LXT’ McAllister – Dexerto
Police concerned about the whereabouts of former pro Call of Duty player Brandon ‘LXT’ McAllister The whereabouts of a former professional Call of Duty player are currently unknown with the police in his local area asking the public for help. Brandon ‘LXT’ McCallister was once a prominent competitive player in the Call of Duty scene, and famously took down OpTic Gaming at ESWC 2015 on Advanced Warfare while playing for Barrage. Although he flirted occasionally with returning, his last official season was during Advanced Warfare where he played alongside names including Tom ‘Tommey’ Trewren, Mark ‘MarkyB’ Bryceland, and Ben ‘Bance’ Bance. Since leaving the professional CoD scene, the once promising player has had something of a turbulent life and is due to go on trial on October 29 for tying up a council leader with tape and beating him up. He denies the charges made against him. On October 15, a local police department from Brandon’s area posted a Facebook status to raise concern about his whereabouts. It’s unclear whether the search is a concern for his health, or for another matter. Merseyside Police post via Facebook: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for the whereabouts of Brandon McCallister. Police chief apologizes for Call of Duty-themed recruitment poster aimed at kids – Dexerto
Police chief apologizes for Call of Duty-themed recruitment poster aimed at kids Peoria Police DepartmentA Police Department in Illinois has issued an apology after using Call of Duty imagery of cops holding weapons in a recruitment poster. Residents of Peoria, Illinois were baffled by a recent Call of Duty-style recruiting ad that they say promotes violence. The ad, which was posted on the Peoria Police Department’s social media, showed officers in tactical gear holding guns and the tagline, “stop playing games and answer the Call of Duty.” The text used the same font as the popular FPS title. Images of the recruitment ad soon spread to Reddit where residents voiced their displeasure, calling the poster “tone deaf.” Others even took issue with the fact the ad only featured white men. As the backlash spread, the police department folded and issued a statement apologizing for the ad, which they admitted was aimed at younger audiences and gamers. Police department’s Call of Duty ad sparks backlash Police Chief Eric Echevarria told the Journal Star that he believed the images on the poster would help connect to a younger generation. “I want to apologize, sincerely apologize, if somebody was offended or if we offended anybody,” he said. “That’s on me.” “It was never my intention to offend any of our community members with the recruitment flyer that was posted on our Facebook page yesterday,” he added. “It was simply a recruitment image I thought would appeal and connect to a younger generation. I take ownership of this, and I sincerely apologize.” The police chief further noted that the department’s goal is to find the best, most qualified officers in the “most caring and respectful way.” Echevarria claimed that in the future, he and the rest of the department will be more careful with their recruitment strategies and look at things from a community perspective. This isn’t the first time police have found themselves in hot water over a video game. In 2022, two officers were fired after they ignored a robbery in progress to catch a Snorlax in Pokemon Go.

Pokelawls discovers best tactic to pick up easy kills in Warzone – Dexerto
Pokelawls discovers best tactic to pick up easy kills in Warzone pokelawls/Infinity WardPopular Twitch streamer Pokelawls discovered the easiest way to pick up early kills in Call of Duty: Warzone with a hilarious new tactic. Since the release of Modern Warfare’s battle royale mode on March 10, players have been coming up with many different tactics to pull off a great game in Warzone. However, Twitch streamer Pokelawls may have accidentally come up with one of the best strategies yet after dropping into a highly contested area against multiple enemy squads. During the streamer’s March 12 broadcast of Warzone, Pokelawls decided to drop next to the Atlas Superstore, which often has great loot for players to gather in the early game. But, it’s also a busy spot on the map. After realizing that he was not the only player with the same idea, the popular content creator decided to jump straight into an SUV instead of racing for a weapon. Unlike most battle royale players, who would usually turn tail and find somewhere else to loot, he decided to stick around and use his newly found vehicle as his weapon. Despite having some difficulty making it around the barriers surrounding the building, the streamer drove through the Atlas Superstore doors and started to collide with any opponent who crossed his path. Pokelawls continued to drive around in the SUV, cleaning up many of the ongoing fights that were taking place at the store and eventually securing a hilarious triple kill to wipe out the remaining players. His teammates and fellow streamers aimbotcalvin and M0xy could not help but laugh after noticing that the kill feed was filling up with ridiculous multi-kills that Pokelawls had pulled off. Although the tactic requires some luck and timing to be as successful as the streamer, Pokelawls demonstrated just how well it could work when landing at a highly contested location in Warzone.

PlayStation will only get CoD for 3 years after current deal, CEO slams Xbox offer – Dexerto
PlayStation will only get CoD for 3 years after current deal, CEO slams Xbox offer ActivisionMicrosoft CEO Phil Spencer promised CoD would be on PlayStation for “several more years,” but PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan came out and “set the record straight.” Xbox is still awaiting a decision on its nearly $70 billion Activision Blizard acquisition, but that didn’t stop Phil Spencer from making bold proclamations if the deal goes through. Spencer claimed, “We are committed to making the same version of Call of Duty available on PlayStation on the same day the game launches elsewhere.” In a statement to the Verge, Spencer signed an agreement with Sony in January to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation for “several more years,” and the Microsoft executive called it “an offer that goes well beyond typical gaming industry agreements. “ However, PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan refuted that characterization of the deal, calling it “inadequate on many levels.” PlayStation CEO calls out Xbox over CoD agreement In a statement to GamesIndustryBiz, Ryan claimed Spencer only guaranteed Call of Duty on PlayStation for three years after the current CoD and Sony deal ends. PlayStation has had exclusive marketing rights with Call of Duty since 2014. Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier confirmed PlayStation’s deal runs through at least Modern Warfare 2, CoD 2023, and Warzone 2 in 2023. Ryan said “[a]fter almost 20 years of Call of Duty on PlayStation, their proposal was inadequate on many levels and failed to take account of the impact on our gamers. We want to guarantee PlayStation gamers continue to have the highest quality Call of Duty experience, and Microsoft’s proposal undermines this principle.” There is no concrete timeline for Xbox’s acquisition of Activision Blizard, as several roadblocks still stand in the landmark deal’s way.

PlayStation players furious at Warzone Pacific after major issues on PS4 & PS5 – Dexerto
PlayStation players furious at Warzone Pacific after major issues on PS4 & PS5 RavenSo/ActivisionPlayStation players are reporting major performance and crashing issues in Warzone Pacific that are making the game virtually unplayable on PS4 & PS5. The time to kiss Verdansk goodbye has come as Call of Duty Vanguard has now fully integrated into Warzone, bringing players into the scenes of WWII with the arrival of Warzone Pacific and the new Caldera map. While this would typically be an exciting time for avid fans of the franchise, some problems with the game on the PlayStation family of consoles have made the entire affair a brutal experience for any eager would-be soldiers. Major Warzone Pacific issues on PS4 & PS5 It didn’t take long at all for members of the community to report the first crashes on the new Caldera map. One Twitter user noted the problems only twelve minutes after the servers went live: “Of course my game keeps crashing every time I try to log into Warzone Pacific. Pain.” Of course my game keeps crashing every time I try to log into #Warzone #Pacific. Pain. — RavenEAP (@RavenEAP) December 8, 2021 The constant crashing is only one part of the problem as well, as there are a handful of other performance issues making things worse. As Borruso44 points out, many of the game’s textures are not rendering properly, leaving players helpless when trying to navigate around the map: “When dropping in the game does not load properly which cause my game to freeze and crash. I am on PS5 and this is unacceptable.” @CallofDuty @RavenSoftware @SHGames just so you are aware there is a graphic and gun texture glitch that is making this warzone unplayable. PlayStation-only CoD skin is already showing up on Xbox & PC after Activision merger – Dexerto
PlayStation-only CoD skin is already showing up on Xbox & PC after Activision merger ActivisionPlayStation’s exclusive Call of Duty rewards appear to be making their way onto Xbox and PC early now that Microsoft’s Activision merger is a done deal. After years of legal battles and plenty of red tape, Microsoft now officially owns Activision Blizzard King. The historic $68.7 billion acquisition formally closed on October 13, growing Microsoft’s catalog of IP an exorbitant amount overnight. One such franchise now owned by the Xbox creators is none other than Call of Duty. Naturally, gamers around the globe have had plenty of questions on the future of the FPS series. Will new entries be coming to Game Pass? Will those on PlayStation be blocked off in the future? And what exactly happens to platform-exclusive content? Well, plenty of questions still remain answerless, but we do have some clarity on the latter. Xbox head Phil Spencer is adamant that platform-exclusive content will become a thing of the past, though it seems his words are being acted upon much sooner than anyone expected. When Modern Warfare 2 (2022) went live on October 28 last year, it did so while honoring Activision’s preexisting deal with Sony. Despite the merger being well underway, the publishing giant continued to oblige its earlier agreement in releasing platform-exclusive content on Sony hardware. For last year’s game, that came in the form of the Oni Operator skin, a bundle exclusive to those on PS4 & PS5 for a limited time. Historically, any PlayStation-exclusives have then made their way to other platforms once a 12-month window is up, though that trend may have just been bucked. Players across both Xbox & PC are reporting that the Oni skin is already appearing in their games from October 17, nearly a fortnight out from the seemingly agreed-upon date. None of the parties involved are yet to address this matter at the time of writing. Activision, Microsoft, nor Sony have commented on this early release, so it’s unclear for now whether it was intentional or purely a mistake. We’ll have to wait and see if the Oni skin is quickly pulled down from Xbox and PC player’s Operator menus until its intended release later this month. But for now, it appears anyone is able to grab the PlayStation-exclusive goodie for themselves, regardless of platform.

Players to watch during CDL Playoffs & Champs – Dexerto
Players to watch during CDL Playoffs & Champs Activision / Dexerto [jwplayer gKJAL7Ti] The Call of Duty League’s inaugural season is drawing to a close with the CDL Playoffs & Champs, but who will play the biggest part in their team’s success? Activision’s first season running the Call of Duty League has been one to remember. Despite the inherent challenges imposed by ongoing travel restrictions, the season has been one of the most entertaining to-date. The shift from offline to online play had detrimental effects on some teams, while others thrived within the new conditions. That said, this season has been the most unpredictable in Call of Duty esports history. It speaks volumes that there is no clear-cut favorite to take the lion’s share of $4.6 million — any team in the league is capable of taking that coveted ring. But, each team has that one player who they’ll be relying on most to bring home the bacon. So we’ve rounded up all the players you’ll want to keep an eye on over the tournament. Rasim ‘Blazt’ Ogresevic (Los Angeles Guerrillas) Despite his squad sitting rock bottom of the CDL’s Regular Season standings, Blazt has been the LA Guerrillas silver lining. As the squad’s Main AR, Blazt has been running rampant with an M4 in-hand towards the backend of the season. While the remainder of his team have lagged behind in the killing department, Blazt is the only player on the Guerrillas to have a positive kill swing, with a K/D ratio of 1.09. If Blazt and co. want to make a historic Lower Bracket run, Ogresevic will have to step up. Austin ‘SlasheR’ Liddicoat (OpTic Gaming Los Angeles) Since making the switch back to his more familiar AR roots, SlasheR has shown glimpses of his world championship-winning form that led so many to consider him as one of the greatest AR players to touch the sticks. But after a turbulent year and multiple roster shuffles, OGLA find themselves in the first round of the Lower Bracket against their Los Angeles rivals. Will SlasheR be able to use his veteran experience to ensure OpTic’s newcomers don’t crack under the pressure? Matthew ‘KiSMET’ Tinsley (Paris Legion) Despite being regarded as one of the most versatile SMG players in Call of Duty, KiSMET has had a woeful season by his standards. But after an impressive showing during London Royal Raven’s second Home Series event, Legion find themselves with a glimmer of hope heading into CDL Playoffs. With that said, KiSMET will be needing to turn things around when it comes to his respawn game modes. Providing that Tinsley can pull something out of the bag, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Legion make a Lower Bracket run. Josiah ‘Slacked’ Berry (Seattle Surge) Standing in Legion’s way in the first round of the Lower Bracket, is Slacked and co. On paper, Seattle Surge has one of the most formidable rosters, with a mixture of experience and fresh blood. But a shaky season rendered Surge joint bottom of the Regular Season standings. Slacked boasts the third-highest average placing at Champs events out of any active players, behind only SlasheR and Dillon ‘Attach’ Price. Will Slacked’s experience shine through and help his squad build some momentum in the Lower Bracket? Trei ‘Zer0’ Morris (London Royal Ravens) Since transferring from New York Subliners, Zer0 seems to have revitalized the London Royal Ravens out of their mid-season slump. Morris had an immediate impact during his first event at CDL Seattle, where he led Royal Ravens to their first (and only) Grand Final of the season. Since then, the Brits have crashed out in the Group Stages twice and came short on Championship Sunday during their second Home Series event. Zer0 will be hoping to prove his doubters wrong during CDL Playoffs and prove that his transfer from New York Subliners was worth it. Cameron ‘Cammy’ McKilligan (Toronto Ultra) Toronto Ultra shocked everyone when they pulled a Home Series victory out of the bag at the last event of the Regular Season. Cammy was the protagonist that weekend, as the Scot stole the show by clocking out with the most kills (381). After racking up a slew of mediocre placements, Ultra finally proved that they could dance with the very best, after taking down Huntsmen, Empire and FaZe to defend their Home Series. Providing Cammy and co. can continue from where they left off, Ultra will be dark horses during Playoffs and Champs. Makenzie ‘Mack’ Kelley (New York Subliners) Arguably one of the most impactful players in CDL, Mack has literally turned the New York Subliners on its head. Since joining, the Subliners have gone from being a middle of the pack outfit, to being genuine title contenders on their day. With Kelley fragging out around the objective, the veterans of Attach, Thomas ‘ZooMaa’ Paparatto and Lamar ‘Accuracy’ Abedi have been able to fill in the rest. But with the biggest cash prize in Call of Duty history on offer, will Mack be able to stand tall when it matters the most? Kaden ‘Exceed’ Stockdale (Minnesota RØKKR) The only glimpse of seeing Exceed in action with RØKKR was during their Home Series event, where the youngster subbed in for Alex ‘Alexx’ Carpenter with a moment’s notice. Other than that, Exceed has remained on the bench for the most part. But now, Stockdale has big shoes to fill going into the biggest event in history. In a shock move, RØKKR ditched Adam ‘GodRx’ Brown at the end of the Regular Season — a player who at times looked unstoppable. So all eyes will fall onto Exceed to see if he can come into his own on the biggest of stages. Alec ‘Arcitys’ Sanderson (Chicago Huntsmen) Coming off the back of an unbelievable season during Black Ops 4, Arcitys was tipped to be one of the most lethal ARs going into Modern Warfare. But after adopting a Flex role for the Huntsmen, Sanderson appeared to have a tough time adjusting to the SMG-dominant meta at first. After finding his groove towards the latter portions of the season, Arcitys looks to be hitting form at the perfect time. With the Huntsmen on a first-round bye, they’ll meet the winners of Subliners vs RØKKR in the Upper Bracket — and Arcitys will be looking to hit the ground running in his bid to secure back-to-back world championships. Joseph ‘Owakening’ Conley (Florida Mutineers) There’s no denying Owakening’s impact on Florida Mutineers this season. Since replacing Chance ‘Maux’ Moncivaez, the 19-year-old has been running circles around the rest of the league — posting numbers that most would be proud of in a public lobby! Now in with a shot of earning ‘Rookie of the Year,’ Owakening needs to prove himself on the biggest of stages to solidify his name as one of this season’s best. But given that Conley won’t have to contend with the pressures of LAN, he’ll be hoping to take his Regular Season form right through into Playoffs. Anthony ‘Shotzzy’ Cuevas-Castro (Dallas Empire) The former Halo pro knows exactly what it takes to win a world championship. Despite a rocky start to the season, Shotzzy managed to step up to the plate and prove that he can mix it with the very best. His movement is second to none, and on his day, no one can stop the Shotzzy train once it’s coming at you. Providing that Dallas Empire can iron out some of their inconsistencies and put Shotzzy and Cuyler ‘Huke’ Garland in a prime position to frag out, it’s hard to think of a team that can stop them. Chris ‘Simp’ Lehr (Atlanta FaZe) After winning Rookie of the Year in Black Ops 4, no one really doubted that Simp would be a formidable force in Modern Warfare. But once again, Simp has proved himself as arguably the best in the game. While the likes of Shotzzy (2548) and Huke (2561) came close, Simp ended the Regular Season with the most kills across all Home Series events, with a tally of 2588 kills to his name — alongside boasting a 1.17 K/D ratio! If the Atlanta FaZe hotshot can go big, it will be difficult to stop Simp from taking all of the spoils once again. So that rounds up our list of players to watch during CDL Playoffs and Champs. While there’s plenty of players who can make an impact, these players have proved to be vital to their team’s success throughout the year.

Players Surprised to Find Out You Can Fight to a Draw in Call of Duty: Blackout Private Beta – Dexerto
Players Surprised to Find Out You Can Fight to a Draw in Call of Duty: Blackout Private Beta Although Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar stated that he wasn’t sure if Call of Duty: Blackout would support draws, it appears that this result has been confirmed by players of the Private Beta. Reddit user ‘u/QetFuckedKid’ uploaded a screenshot of the game’s result screen to the platform, which revealed that their game had ended in a draw. They weren’t the only ones to experience this development, either. https://www.reddit.com/r/Blackops4/comments/9eqz0u/apparently_you_can_get_a_draw/ YouTuber CHIEF CMG uploaded a clip of his match, which likewise ended in a draw. His shock and surprise were expressed in the video, which he released on September 11 – a day after the Reddit post was published. Other streamers, YouTubers, and Twitter users have likewise documented their surprise at the development. Twitch streamer FragOute had an exceptional reaction, appearing incredulous that the game could have ended in a draw. Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar stated in an interview with Game Informer that he wasn’t sure if Blackout would support this result. One of the 195 rapid-fire questions flung at him during the questioning dealt with deaths in the game, specifically asking what would happen if a player were to crash a helicopter into an enemy to win the round. Vonderhaar stated that such a development would be a draw, as the pilot would also die – but wasn’t too certain if draws themselves were supported in the title. “I should test that. That would be a draw. I don’t know if we support draws. I should check that out. Fuck.” As it so happens, it looks like Blackout does support draws. We can’t help but wonder if Vonderhaar actually went back to test that theory – after all, it does sound like an interesting way to end a game.

Players slam MW3 as cheaters still ruining matches flowing ban waves – Dexerto
Players slam MW3 as cheaters still ruining matches flowing ban waves ActivisionMW3 players are coming at the game’s developers and anti-cheat system, claiming their matches are still full of cheaters even after a massive ban wave. Team RICOCHET, the anti-cheat maker for Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare 3, implemented multiple ban waves on March 25 and said it banned over 28,000 accounts. MW3 players, however, say they are still running into cheaters who are ruining their experience. On the game’s subreddit, two posts outline players’ experiences in online matchmaking for the double XP weekend. One poster said that they were unable to find a lobby without someone using cheats and included a video showcasing someone using what appears to be an aimbot. “What’s with this new wave of hackers/cheaters? I know they can be prevalent in old games, but I always figured whatever the new Call of Duty is, there wouldn’t be much of a worry for this kind of thing,” they said. Commenters were shocked that the anti-cheat wasn’t picking up the blatant cheater. “Seriously what is the anti-cheat doing? It seems practically useless if it can’t detect this dude,” one commenter wrote. Another post on the same forum said they are running into the same problem, on top of other in-game technical issues. “Every match now has at least one hacker in it… what is the point of Ricochet? Also, you notice along with the influx of hackers, you tend to lose nonstop while having to contend with the atrocious packet burst issues that conveniently seem to pop up when your team is finally winning? The double XP is not worth wasting your time when the game is functioning this poorly,” the poster explained. These reports of cheaters also come on the heels of cheat-makers dealing with a malware campaign targeting players who use their products. The campaign, and the recent anti-cheat ban wave, however, don’t seem to be doing much for some MW3 players as they continue to run into problems in matchmaking.

Players ruining Black Ops 4 League Play will soon face penalties – Dexerto
Players ruining Black Ops 4 League Play will soon face penalties Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 developer at Treyarch, Matt Scronce, has confirmed that they are implementing penalties in League Play mode for “unsavory play”, specifically teamkilling. To be in-line with the competitive ruleset, friendly fire is enabled in Black Ops 4 League Play, but this can lead to frustrating moments when playing with randomly assigned teammates – who are either careless, or deliberately ruining the fun. As well as teamkilling, another problem is with players leaving matches early, usually when their team is behind and the comeback seems difficult, or sometimes for seemingly no reason at all – they just decided to quit. In previous ‘ranked’ modes in Call of Duty, penalties have been enforced for players who leave matches early, or teamkill regularly, but Black Ops 4 currently has no such penalties. More: What to expect from Black Ops 4’s March 12 update – Shamrock & Awe event, Blackout update, and more – Unsurprisingly, players have been asking for stricter rules around League Play, and Treyarch are delivering, as Scronce explains. Specifically, friendly fire ‘ricochet’ will be enabled at the start of rounds, meaning that players who shoot teammates early in a round will actually inflict that bullet damage to themselves. Additionally, Treyarch will also be implementing a change to how teamkilling is registered with AI controlled scorestreaks, namely the Thresher. As the targeting of this streak is not directly controlled by the player, it seems unfair to punish them for any accidental friendly fire, and so friendly fire will be removed from the Thresher altogether in League Play. Whether the planned updates to League Play will be enough to satisfy players’ complaints remains to be seen, but it’s a step in the right direction at least. League Play was delayed for some months, only launching in February – five months after Black Ops 4’s release – which set it off on a bad foot with players. Call of Duty fans had been getting understandably impatient, especially considering 2019’s Call of Duty release will likely be teased in a matter of weeks.

Players respond as FaZe Clan “robbed” at CWL London by bizarre Black Ops 4 glitch – Dexerto
Players respond as FaZe Clan “robbed” at CWL London by bizarre Black Ops 4 glitch Twitch / Call of DutyCall of Duty pros were left in disbelief when a map between FaZe Clan and Luminosity Gaming at CWL London was decided by a bizarre bug. CWL London kicked off on May 3, becoming the third major open event of the Black Ops 4 competitive season. The tournament has also marked the return of FaZe Clan to the CoD World League after they picked up Red Reserve’s spot. Despite an impressive showing in pool play, the new-look mixed-squad found themselves quickly in Losers Round 2 after falling to OpTic Gaming. Yet, things got even stranger as a potential win over Luminosity Gaming was denied by one strange Control bug. What happened between FaZe and LG? The teams were locked into a tense final round of Control on Seaside, with the available lives left at a premium for both sides. With FaZe on offense, they were the process of capturing the A point and sealing their victory before Luminosity tried to contest and give themselves a lifeline. FaZe captured the point behind the efforts of Tommy ‘ZooMaa’ Papparatto, which was reflected by the in-game message on the right-hand side. Yet, the map win was handed to Luminosity after Josiah ‘SLACKED’ Berry wiped out the last remaining players, with his Grav Slam ultimate, on the point despite FaZe having captured the zone. The controversial ending was put under review and handed to Luminosity after a break, with officials deciding that the result was decided by the game and was going to stay that way. The series was ultimately decided by map five after FaZe rebounded from the bizarre bug and pushed on for a victory in the following map. Yet, they would fall to a defeat Luminosity made light work of the final Search and Destroy game. While some fans and players may have believed that the map should have been replayed and the win given to FaZe, the match officials were seemingly unable to change the result – handing the victory and series advantage to LG. Per @RJTheSlothbear, the refs were shown theater footage of FaZe capping before Slacked contested. The refs told the team that they had to go by the result determined by the game. No replay was offered to either team. — Ben N (@BenJNissim) May 4, 2019 FaZe pros have their say The defeat, of course, didn’t sit well with the FaZe players, who immediately turned to Twitter to put their feelings out there to their fans. ZooMaa tweeted: “What a fucking joke. None the less, proud of these guys. Respawn looked good, just need to clean up SnD… hard to gets reps online. The crowd in London was absolutely nuts, thank you guys for making the team and myself feel welcomed. Till next time.” What a fucking joke. None the less, proud of these guys. Respawn looked good, just need to clean up SnD… hard to gets reps online. The crowd in London was absolutely nuts, thank you guys for making the team and myself feel welcomed. Till next time. #FaZeUp ️ — FaZe ZooMaa (@ZooMaa) May 4, 2019 Trei ‘Zer0’ Morris couldn’t contain his anger at what had happened, posting: “Honestly, I’ve lost so much full, this game is fucking garbage. Idc [I don’t care] what repercussions this gets but how is this happening 7 months into a game. Lik, cmon, this is people’s jobs.” Honestly ive lost so much full, this game is fucking garbage, idc what reprocusions this gets but how is this happening 7 months into a game like cmon this is peoples jobs. — FaZe treiboi carti (@TreiZer0) May 4, 2019 Former Red Reserve star Matthew ‘Skrapz‘ Marshall described the situation as a “shambles” and that the result was “daylight robbery.” That’s not even a GGs, never been more robbed in my life, day light robbery. Fucking shambles. — FaZe Skrapz (@skrapzg) May 4, 2019 Luminosity make their feelings known Former CoD World Champion Matthew ‘FormaL’ Piper, whose LG squad benefitted from the ruling tweeted that his team had no say on what was decided and described it as a “shitty situation.” We didn’t make the ruling at all, they told us who won the map, we were just playing. Shitty situation regardless — LG FormaL (@FormaL) May 4, 2019 A number of other pros were also left bemused by what had happened and why the map had gone to Luminosity and not FaZe. OpTic Gaming star Seth ‘Scump’ Abner tweeted that FaZe got robbed by the decision. Scump’s belief that FaZe won and suffered a ‘robbery’ was echoed by 100 Thieves’ Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt who posted: “I’m losing absolute FULL right now if I’m FaZe wow.” Will this prompt a game update? The defeat ultimately marked the elimination of FaZe from their first event of the season, despite going toe-to-toe with some of the most established teams in Black Ops 4. It remains to be seen if an official comment will be made from any of the parties involved, or if a change will be made to the Control game mode in a bid to avoid any similar future errors effecting games.

Players highlight major issue with off-center aim for snipers and reticles in Black Ops 4 – Dexerto
Players highlight major issue with off-center aim for snipers and reticles in Black Ops 4 Black Ops 4 players, particularly those who use a sniper, have run into a potentially major issue affecting the aim mechanics, where the sniper’s scope appears to be off-center. In a number of Reddit posts, users have shared what appears to be a problem with snipers, although it is possible it is a deliberate move to prevent ‘quickscoping’ being too easy. This has lead to frustration for some players though, as they feel the weapons are made too inconsistent by this alteration. Not only this, but some players have found that certain reticles are in fact off-center too, affecting all weapons, not just snipers. In a video shared to Reddit by u/ItsAutobot, the centering of the player’s aim is thrown off somewhat, not resetting to the initial position. This appears to be caused by the center of the player’s screen itself being moved, only slightly, despite the player not moving their character or aim. Despite frustrations, some have pointed out that this could be a design choice by developers Treyarch, in an effort to reduce the effectiveness of quickscoping. The use of snipers in this way has long been a contentious topic in the community, splitting opinion between players who use regular guns vs those who use snipers. However, in past games, even Treyarch’s previous entry in the series, Black Ops 3, this harsh aim penalty for using snipers was not implemented, so it’s unclear if this is intentional or not in Black Ops 4. There have also been reports of certain reticles being off-center, such as the ‘Echelon’ sight, when used on any weapon. Treyarch are yet to respond to these complaints, but continue to roll out frequent updates to fix bugs and glitches, so presumably it will be on their to-do list – if it is indeed an unintended bug. You can read the most recent Black Ops 4 patch notes here, which included various stability improvements and bug fixes.

Players debate prestige system before Modern Warfare 3 – Dexerto
Players debate prestige system before Modern Warfare 3 ActivisionCall of Duty fans are debating what sort of prestige system should be added to Modern Warfare 3. Call of Duty 4 was the first title to introduce the prestige system which allowed users to reset their progress after reaching the max level in multiplayer. The benefits for entering prestige mode varied between games with some offering an additional create a class slot or new weapon. By entering prestige mode, a player’s level is reset back to one for a fresh start to the game. The player must progress through the ranks again to unlock the weapons and challenges that were reset when using the prestige system. The reset does not go without its advantages however, each time a player resets they are granted a new prestige emblem to showcase their dedication to the game. The number of times a player can prestige has changed throughout the years with some offering the ability to prestige from 10 to 20 times. Fans are conflicted about prestige system in Modern Warfare 3 Modern Warfare (2019) and Modern Warfare 2 did not feature a traditional prestige system. Instead the developers opted for a level system that allowed players to reach upwards of level 500 with different emblems along the way. Although players are discussing the idea of adding the prestige system to MW3. One Reddit user posted an image of one of the original prestige systems for Call of Duty, requesting that the developers of MW3 bring back something similar. But not all commenters were on board with the idea. “I’d never use it, but I’m not against bringing it back for those that actually enjoyed wiping all their shit repeatedly,” said one Reddit user. Others saw the idea of having to unlock the weapons, attachments and camos all over again to be too much. With some pointing out the number of guns and attachments have increased dramatically in recent years. “No,” said another user. “There’s gonna be like 150 guns by this time next year. I don’t wanna unlock those camos for every prestige. And I don’t wanna water till max prestige to start the camo grind.” Sledgehammer Games released a prestige system with their last title Vanguard. However the system was not as dramatic as the old titles. Despite the varied responses from those on Reddit it will be up to Sledgehammer to decide if they want to add a prestige system when MW3 releases on November 10.

Players brand Modern Warfare 3 as one of the most polarizing Call of Duty games yet – Dexerto
Players brand Modern Warfare 3 as one of the most polarizing Call of Duty games yet ActivisionModern Warfare 3, like most Call of Duty games in beta. has been receiving a lot of criticism, but some players have been loving the game. Modern Warfare 3 is a new version of the old MW3 released in 2011 on classic consoles like the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. While bearing the same name as its predecessor, developers Sledgehammer Games have revealed some exciting new changes in the beta of the new game that make it starkly different, like the new lethal Breacher Drone. For some Modern Warfare fans, particularly those who had grown used to the playstyle of MW (2019) and MW2 (2022), the new beta was disappointing – the TTK felt inconsistent and slow, and the audio felt completely changed. However, not all Call of Duty players felt the same way about the changes, with some seeing the drastic changes to the gameplay as a sign of good things to come. Players think Modern Warfare 3 could be “the year” for good CoD One player couldn’t disagree more with all the negative feedback on MW3, attributing the criticism to “casuals.” The CoD fan even went so far as to say that this “may be the year fr”. “A quick check of the mw3 subreddit shows casuals having meltdowns about movement, high ttk and audio. People are genuinely complaining because they can get turned on so easily and can’t have simp awareness by buying 300 dollar headsets.” The original poster wasn’t the only person in the community who noticed the hate directed towards the upcoming release, signaling that the criticism was from MW2 fans who were complaining: “Users from MW2 sub are hijacking MW3 sub, and absolutely malding lmao.” Others agreed, as they saw the main issue with some fans not enjoying the game was a lack of time to adapt to the new playstyle and longer TTK. “The people who are complaining about the TTK are just not hitting their shots and too used to being able to 2 bullet people.” Call of Duty, being such a big Activision release, usually draws a lot of criticism from players – especially during the beta period where players believe they have the best chance to get the game fixed. Whether players are finding it as fun as MW2 (2022) or not, Dexerto has guides on the best gun loadouts to help you get the most out of your gaming experience.

Black Ops 4 players are getting frozen in place thanks to new glitch – Dexerto
Black Ops 4 players are getting frozen in place thanks to new glitch Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 players are suffering from a new glitch which is affecting people in both multiplayer and Blackout. It’s rare that a glitch effects two completely different game modes, but players in both of Call of Duty’s online offerings are suffering from a glitch that freezes them in place. The glitch appears to be affecting multiplayer in both public and custom games, which may worry pro players who will be competing in the CWL Pro League Qualifier on January 16. In a clip uploaded to Reddit, SebRWise can be seen running into Summit’s main building while playing multiplayer, and heading towards the stairs. As he goes to run up the steps, SebRWise quickly checks behind him to make sure nobody is following him, before moving towards the stairs and hitting the bannister. Just as he runs into it, he becomes stuck, unable to move past the bannister no matter how hard he tries, eventually ending up underneath the map as he attempts to escape. In Blackout, a video uploaded to YouTube by Oscar Meza shows him trying to escape the storm while playing squad matches, only to find himself frozen when he tries to run over a rock, and left to die by his teammates who are forced to keep moving forward. It’s unclear when this glitch started to happen, but both clips have been uploaded in the past two days, so it’s possible that this bug has only just reared its head. Neither Activision nor Treyarch have commented publicly on it yet, but Black Ops 4 fans will hope that it is patched quickly in a future update.

Stacked Play-In bracket announced for Pro League Playoffs at CWL Finals – ft LG, Envy, and more – Dexerto
Stacked Play-In bracket announced for Pro League Playoffs at CWL Finals – ft LG, Envy, and more MLG / EnvyWith the regular season of the CWL Pro League having reached its conclusion, the focus has shifted to the postseason phase, starting with the Play-In tournament at CWL Finals. The final day of matches for the CWL Pro League regular season was played on July 5, finally setting in stone the seeding for all of the teams going into the upcoming CWL Finals tournament. The top four teams in both Division A and B have stamped their ticket to the Playoffs, where a whopping total of $1.25 million will be on the line. However, all hope is not lost for the eight teams that finished in the bottom four, as they will all still have a chance to clinch the two remaining Playoff spots via the Play-In tournament that will be played beforehand. That in mind, the CWL has released the bracket for the Play-In, which features some powerhouse squads like Luminosity Gaming and Team Envy. The final two teams left standing in the Play-In tournament will qualify for the Pro League Playoffs at CWL Finals. Unlike most other knockout CWL tournaments, the Play-In will be a single-elimination bracket, meaning that everything will be on the line in every match of every round. While all of the matches are likely to be intense affairs, extra attention will be paid to Luminosity and Envy, two teams that most would have expected to finish in the top-four of their respective Divisions. Both teams made significant improvements to their squads going into the final weeks of the regular season, and as things stand, both could still qualify for the Playoffs. However, they will have to go through difficult teams like Midnight Esports, who missed out of a top-four spot despite getting 12 wins, and Evil Geniuses, who boast one of the strongest set of players to not have qualified outright. CWL Fort Worth champions Luminosity Gaming could still qualify for the Pro League Playoffs, but the road ahead won’t be easy. CWL Finals Playoff bracket As for the actual Playoffs, that phase of the postseason will commence once the Play-In wraps up, as the two teams left standing will join the eight that have already clinched a spot. OpTic Gaming and eUnited finished the regular season as the top seeds in Divisions A and B respectively, with Team Reciprocity and Team Heretics having to face the Play-In winners as the fourth seeds from each division. Here is how the Playoff bracket will be set once the Play-In tournament has concluded. The Play-In winners will join the eight teams that have already clinched Playoff spots. When is CWL Finals? CWL Finals will take place July 19-21 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami, Florida. The Play-In tournament will be played on July 19, and followed by two days of Playoff action over the weekend. In addition to the $1.25 million Playoffs, the event will also play host to the final amateur open bracket tournament of the season, which not only will offer a $150,000 prize pool, but also 16 spots in next month’s CWL Championship.

How to play Call of Duty Mobile on PC with a mouse and keyboard – Dexerto
How to play Call of Duty Mobile on PC with a mouse and keyboard Activision – Call of DutyThe Call of Duty franchise has finally made its way to mobile devices and although it has barely been in Early Access for a few days, the community has already figured out how to play on PC with a mouse and keyboard. Released across mobile devices on September 30, the Call of Duty series made its first real mark on the handheld gaming market with a faithful rendition of the FPS phenomenon. While the game looks and feels familiar to fans of the series, the gameplay itself might come as a bit of a shock to those used to playing with a controller or a mouse and keyboard setup. Thankfully, crafty members of the community have already figured out a workaround. In a September 30 video released by ‘JackTheBus’ on YouTube, the process is explained in detail for those that want to tear it up online using a mouse and keyboard. After having downloaded the Game Loop software, Call of Duty Mobile should appear for you to install right away on your PC. Utilizing such software does not appear to violate the Activision Terms of Service in any way. Booting up the game on PC for the very first time, you’ll notice that key-binds are already in place, saving you the hassle of having to manually go through and implement each and every function. Unfortunately, following the latest update from Activision Call of Duty Mobile will not support any form of controller functionality. It remains to be seen whether this is a permanent decision or if controller support will be reintroduced in the near future. Hello there, thank you for contacting Spec Ops support. Unfortunately, this is no longer supported after the most recent update. I would be more than happy to help. Thank you. ^RN — Activision Support (@ATVIAssist) October 1, 2019 There are plenty of similar programs out there that help you play mobile games on PC, but Game Loop seems to be the most easily accessible in regards to smoothly competing in CoD Mobile. One thing to note however, is that you will have to login on CoD Mobile using your Facebook account. This allows for progress to be synced across platforms, meaning that you can play from your PC and keep your progress intact when next booting up on mobile. As the mobile gaming space continues to ramp up the fidelity of games on the market, more and more tech companies are diving in and designing their own hardware to benefit handheld gamers such. A prime example of this is the Asus ROG phone designed specifically for gamers. If you’re just starting to play Call of Duty Mobile for the very first time, here’s a detailed breakdown of five handy tips for beginners.

Pizza Hut apparently looking for ‘Call of Duty pro’ in bizarre job listing – Dexerto
Pizza Hut apparently looking for ‘Call of Duty pro’ in bizarre job listing L: Pizza Hut R: ActivisionUpdate 8/30/2019 at 1:57 PM ET Pizza Hut responded and seem just as confused as we are. “Hmm, that’s odd,” the company wrote in a tweet. “Thanks for bringing it to our attention Rahul, we’ve flagged this with the correct team internally and they’re looking into it.” Hmm, that’s odd! Thanks for bringing it to our attention Rahul, we’ve flagged this with the correct team internally and they’re looking into it  — Pizza Hut Restaurants (@pizzahutuk) Call of Duty pro to play on clients’ behalf to unlock items and improve their kill-death ratio. It turns out that being a Call of Duty pro has more perks than just being good at video games. Being good at CoD will not only win you prize money from esports tournaments but it also seems that you’ll also be able to get a job at your local Pizza Hut where you can display your skills while chowing down on a pizza, as bizarre as that sounds. Yes, that’s right, according to a job posting on LinkedIn, Pizza Hut actually wants to add on a CoD pro to their team and it’s just as puzzling as it sounds. Read More: Nadeshot explains why 100 Thieves will not participate in Call of Duty franchising league – “We’re looking for brilliant Call of Duty Pro Players to take on clients locally,” reads the listing. “Are you knowledgeable, friendly and professional? Are you looking for new clients? If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.” If you decide to take it the extra step and go to apply, you are redirected to a site that is not Pizza Hut but rather to an agency, making the whole thing even more confusing. It’s hard to imagine any real reason Pizza Hut would want to pick up a Call of Duty pro, and it’s possible that this listing has been some sort of error by the agency. With all that said, it’s very unlikely any Call of Duty pro would want to take on a job at Pizza Hut as it’s definitely a major pay cut and you’ll come home smelling like pizza every day, which could either be considered a good or bad thing. The job listings are still up though, so if you fancy yourself as a top CoD player, you can fill in an application, and you may just find yourselves chomping down on pizza while you carry customers to victories.

Pittsburgh Knights CoD team caught practicing with two new players – Dexerto
Pittsburgh Knights CoD team caught practicing with two new players Pittsburgh KnightsThe Pittsburgh Knights Call of Duty team could be set to make roster changes after being spotted practicing with two new players on a stream. This could mark the beginning of a busy period of CoD transfers, traditionally known as Rostermania, as the 28 teams who have qualified for the CWL Pro League in January look to finalise their line-ups. Although the Knights got off to a reasonable start when they qualified for pool play in the first Call Of Duty event of the season, they will be looking to improve following losses against OpTic Gaming, Splyce and Red Reserve in Las Vegas. However, their 13-16th placed-finish means that they have qualified for the CWL Pro League play-in event, which is set to take place from January 16 through January 20. Could they be making changes before then in a bid to boost their chances? Well, the team has been spotted practicing with G2’s Richard ‘Ricky’ Stacy and Renato ‘Saints’ Forza from Evil Geniuses. The pair replaced Dylan ‘Theory’ McGee and Andres ‘Lacefield’ Lacefield, who competed in Vegas. Read More: Call of Duty: Blackout receives extensive changes in v1.10 patch – Custom games, Specialist characters, and more – Teams are allowed to make changes ahead of the Pro League play-in event, but must keep three players that competed for them at CWL Vegas on their roster. So the Knights would be able to bring these two players in without losing their play-in spot. The Knights are not the only team reportedly set to make moves ahead of the January event. FaZe Clan played in the online CMG ProDown tournament on December 16 with up-and-coming star ‘Cellium’ replacing Anthony ‘Methodz’ Zinni, while Methodz came in for Ricky in G2’s squad. Should these apparent changes go through, the Knights roster would look like this: Christian ‘Parasite’ Duarte – Adam ‘GodRx’ Brown – Casey ‘Pandur’ Romano – Richard ‘Ricky’ Stacy – Renato ‘Saints’ Forza –

Phil Spencer promises to end platform-exclusive COD content – Dexerto
Phil Spencer promises to end platform-exclusive COD content Activision / Microsoft / SonyMicrosoft now officially owns Activision Blizzard, yet Xbox head Phil Spencer reassured COD players on other platforms. On October 13, Microsoft finally completed its $68.7 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard. After a year of clearing legal hurdles, UK regulators finally put the last puzzle piece in place and approved the deal. The deal has significant implications for the Call of Duty and Overwatch franchises, alongside other titles like Diablo. PlayStation fans feared that the deal would put an end to games coming to their console of choice. However, Microsoft reached an agreement that’ll keep Call of Duty games on PlayStation consoles for the foreseeable future. Xbox users held out hope that COD would immediately make the jump to Game Pass. However, Activision Blizzard extinguished that excitement by announcing that its game catalog would not come to Game Pass until 2024. Additionally, if players on Xbox thought they would also get an advantage over other platforms when it comes to COD, Phil Spencer has other ideas. Phil Spencer denounces platform-exclusive COD content During a podcast, Spencer confirmed that all platforms will have 100% parity on content for Call of Duty. The Xbox executive claimed: “We have no goal of somehow using Call of Duty to get you to buy an Xbox console.” PlayStation-exclusive skins in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone and the MW3 beta coming to PlayStation first exclusively went against what Spencer believes in. The Xbox head argued: ” We have been on the other side of some of those skins; even this beta wasn’t on Xbox the first week. I don’t think that helps the community. I don’t think that helps the game. So it’s the focus if you are a PlayStation player, Nintendo player, PC player, or Xbox console player, I want you to feel 100% a part of the Call of Duty nation.” It remains to be seen what other implications the Activision Blizzard purchase has on Call of Duty. But we will have a better idea once Modern Warfare 3 officially releases worldwide on November 10 and over the course of the upcoming game’s life cycle.

Phil Spencer doubles down on bringing CoD to Game Pass on “day one” – Dexerto
Phil Spencer doubles down on bringing CoD to Game Pass on “day one” Activision / XboxAfter months of conflicting comments and dubious speculation, Xbox head Phil Spencer has cleared the air once and for all, confirming Call of Duty will indeed arrive on Game Pass in the near future, with the intention being to have new releases available on “day one.” From the moment Microsoft announced its industry-shaking plans to acquire Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion, speculation was rampant as to what it might mean for Game Pass. With many titles under the Zenimax umbrella added to the subscription service shortly after that earlier acquisition, many questioned if Activision Blizzard’s IP would follow suit. To date, however, it’s been a considerably slower and more confusing process. While Diablo 4 was just announced to be arriving on Game Pass on March 28, plans for other popular ActiBlizz IP have remained cloudy at best. Until now that is, as Phil Spencer just confirmed plans to bring CoD to Game Pass, shutting down any and all speculation of the opposite in the process. “The flagship Activision Blizzard franchise is still coming,” Spencer said in speaking with industry journalist Stephen Totilo. Although rumors have swirled around the plans for CoD specifically, the Xbox head clarified the team’s intentions once and for all. “Our intent is the full portfolio of games from ZeniMax, Activision Blizzard, and Xbox Game Studios, will be on Game Pass, day one.” Naturally, CoD is the biggest blockbuster under the ActiBlizz banners by a significant margin. Should the publishing giant’s full portfolio come across to Game Pass, rest assured CoD is included in that conversation. As for exactly when this might come to fruition, Spencer couldn’t provide an estimate. Though he outlined how work is currently underway on the “back end to make the come to PC and console simultaneously.” So for now, it still remains unclear if this back end work will be finished in time to support CoD 2024 on Game Pass at launch, as Xbox clearly hopes. But rest assured it’s certainly their plan moving forward to allow Game Pass subscribers access to CoD day and date with its annualized launch.

Perfect playable remake of CoD 4 map Shipment in Fortnite Creative – Dexerto
Perfect playable remake of CoD 4 map Shipment in Fortnite Creative Since the release of Fortnite Creative at the start of Season 7, players with an eye for detail have been designing incredible remakes of classic multiplayer maps – the latest being ‘Shipment’ from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. This tiny map is among the most legendary of all Call of Duty maps, known for its 1v1 battles, just like other well known maps Nuketown and Rust. Nuketown and Rust have of course already received the Fortnite Creative treatment, and while there are plenty good attempts, nothing comes close to as perfect a remake as this Shipment example. Admittedly, it could be argued that Shipment is somewhat easier to make, given its very small and square dimensions, but the attention to detail in this attempt in unrivalled. The creator, u/jespergran, has even taken the time to recreate the outskirts of the map too, so not only is the playable area exceptionally detailed, but the surrounding environment too. “I’ve recreated the entire map, even the outside and every asset on the entire map is on the exact same location (bought MWR on PC to spectate while building) even the assets on the outside is 100% the same!” You can see Shipment in action in the trailer below. The creator, jesgran, is an approved creator on Fortnite, meaning he has a code which allows any player to try out his Shipment creation. Simply enter the code below in Creative: More: First look at Cizzorz’s new DeathRun 2.0 Fortnite obstacle course that looks even harder than the first – You can also see some of the other best Call of Duty map remakes in Fortnite Creative here:

Clever Modern Warfare perk concept makes Warzone loadouts even stronger – Dexerto
Clever Modern Warfare perk concept makes Warzone loadouts even stronger ActivisionSometimes the ideal weapon blueprint for Warzone is just one attachment short of being perfect, and this Modern Warfare perk concept would be the best solution. Modern Warfare’s weapon blueprints provide players with the best way of taking their favorite weapon into the battlefield. Aside from sporting an exclusive skin, a blueprint grants players a great starting point for optimizing their weapon in the Gunsmith. Following the addition of ‘Gunsmith Customs’ – which grants players the options to mix and match their favorite blueprints – weapon customization has never been so easy. But what if you need that one additional attachment slot to make the perfect iteration of your gun? Well one savvy Redditor has come up with the concept of ‘6th Sense’ — a perk which grants players a sixth attachment slot on their favorite weapon by sacrificing their first perk slot. So instead of wondering whether or not you should surrender your Optic for Stock, you’d simply just sacrifice your first perk instead. While on paper this is a neat solution, the first perk slot is stacked. With the likes of Quick Fix, Cold-Blooded and E.O.D. on the table, it would be tough to leave one of these behind in your Custom Loadout. That’s why one user suggested that it’d be perhaps best suited to the third perk slot, where those perks could arguably be seen as less of a necessity and more of a luxury in Verdansk. Although, a heads-up observation from another user pointed out that it should occupy the second perk slot, so it would compete with Overkill (which grants players a secondary primary weapon) and Ghost, which has been proven to be pretty broken in Warzone. So then the toss-up would be to go all-in with one weapon, or simply take two regular weapons in your Custom Loadout without having the additional attachment slot.

Pay-to-win Warzone weapon blueprint gives MP5 big TTK boost – Dexerto
Pay-to-win Warzone weapon blueprint gives MP5 big TTK boost ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players have uncovered a blueprint for the Modern Warfare MP5 that is a bit “pay to win” and there are some calls for Raven to make a change. Since Warzone pretty much took over the gaming world, Raven Software haven’t been shy about filling the Call of Duty battle royale with a wide-range of cosmetics. These purchasable options have ranged from weapon skins to vehicle wraps, in-game wrist watches, music bundles, and even graffiti sprays. While many of them are just for show, there are also weapon blueprints too. The blueprints are typically designed to give a gun a unique look, but there have been cases where they, for whatever reason, manage to have a stats boost attached as well. And players have uncovered another couple for the Modern Warfare MP5. MP5 Warzone blueprints are “pay to win” While the MP5 may have slipped away from the top end of the meta, it is still a competitive pick in Warzone, and as stats site Sym.GG shows, that select blueprints make it even better. The blueprints that they’ve managed to test are the Banisher and Ultimatum skins, which boost the MP5’s damage at close range. In the case of the Banisher blueprint, the MP5’s base damage increases from 45 to 49. In turn, this helps the Banisher achieve a better TTK than the base version of the MP5. Now, it might not be on the level of some Vanguard SMGs, but it is certainly noticeable and helpful in-game. Some players who own the blueprints are, naturally, pleased by this development seeing as they were advertised as providing a damage boost when available. Though, they may not have suspected this big a bump. It remains to be seen if anything will happen to them and if a retrospective nerf is implemented by the Warzone devs.

Pay to win Warzone skin now “way worse” in MW3: “Literally invisible” – Dexerto
Pay to win Warzone skin now “way worse” in MW3: “Literally invisible” ActivisionCall of Duty fans are convinced the “pay to win” Gaia skin is “way worse” in Modern Warfare 3 than it has been in Warzone, especially on some of the grassy maps. Over the last few years, Call of Duty has had its fair share of “pay to win” issues in both multiplayer and Warzone. A handful of these have been weapons that have been more powerful than advertised, but the majority of them are skins and operators. The most recent issue has surrounded the Gaia skin – or Groot, as it’s known to some – which was released as a part of The Haunting event to celebrate Halloween. The tree-like skin has created issues because, while it’s supposed to glow, it’s actually pretty hard to see. Many players have complained about it, urging the devs to get rid of it ahead of Modern Warfare 3’s launch. However, it appears as if things have only gotten worse. CoD fans claim Gaia skin is “way worse” in Modern Warfare 3 With MW3 finally opening up to players across the globe on November 10, there has already been a steady flow of complaints about the skin. “This skin needs a nerf, it is so OP in Estate and Wasteland. Literally invisible,” said one player, noting that Modern Warfare 3 maps have more vegetation than those in MW2. “I’ve noticed it’s way worse on MW3,” agreed another player, pointing to Underpass and Farm as other headache maps. “There should be a cosmetic toggle, I should have the ability to turn off seeing anyone else’s cosmetics from my game perspective, or at least the non-milsim ones,” another suggested. Other players agreed with the suggestion that skins could be turned off, at least on their own end, but that’s probably very unlikely to happen. The devs have already enhanced the brightness on the skin once, but it remains to be seen if they’ll do so again – or take any further measures to placate annoyed players.

Pay-to-win Warzone skin literally makes players invisible – Dexerto
Pay-to-win Warzone skin literally makes players invisible ActivisionCall of Duty Warzone players have discovered a “pay to win” skin that lets them go invisible at certain ranges – and it’s incredibly annoying for enemies. Ever since Warzone launched back in March, players have complained about a laundry list of issues with regards to new weapons, skins, and other add-ons. We’ve seen weapons from the battle pass deal more ridiculously more damage than their base self, players have complained about the all-black Roze skin being too difficult to see in certain situations, and there have been watches that shine through solid walls to give away locations. Raven Software has gotten around to addressing a few of these issues, but whenever they get rid of one, a few more take their place. That’s the case with the Forest Spirit skin for Grinch, which can be found in the 1800 CoD Points bundle called Eloko. A few players have reported issues with seeing invisible ‘cheaters’ in their games – where their body is invisible, but their weapons can be seen flapping around. Read More: NICKMERCS’ Stoner 63 Warzone loadout – It all seems to stem from this Forest Spirit skin. As YouTuber Scop3s shows, the body of the player using the skin disappears at different ranges depending on how you’re looking at them. If you’re not aiming down sight, you’ll lose sight of the player – be it your teammate or opponent – at around 34 meters. After that, if you’re aiming in with a normal scope, you’ll lose sight at 55 meters, while sniper scopes will see the players invisible from around 125 meters away. As the YouTuber further demonstrates, even though the weapon you’re carrying is still somewhat visible, it’s incredibly hard for enemies to see over 125 meters away – especially if they’re panicking with the gas closing in. Given that it seems to be a buggy character model, rather than anything else, it shouldn’t be incredibly hard for the devs to turn around and fix. Though, we’ll just have to wait and see if they do anything soon.

“Pay to win” Warzone LMG blueprint makes seeing enemies even easier – Dexerto
“Pay to win” Warzone LMG blueprint makes seeing enemies even easier ActivisionThis Modern Warfare 3 blueprint has taken the meta DG-58 LSW LMG and made it even more powerful in Warzone, with players calling it pay-to-win. Over the years, there have been several Operator outfits and weapon blueprints that have been deemed “pay-to-win,” causing major issues. This includes the Gaia skin, which players spent months complaining about before it was nerfed, as well as the Doom shotgun that wreaked havoc when it was first released. Now, the Bone Structure blueprint for the DG-58 has been deemed “pay-to-win” too, and players are starting to catch on to just how much this gun can help your gameplay. The blueprint has been highlighted by a number of top players, including JoeWo, who showed that a large section of the weapon, particularly around the optic, is completely see-through, improving your visibility even when taking gunfights. The Bone Structure blueprint can be found in the Spare Ribs bundle in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, which is available for 1100 COD Points (approximately $9.99) in the store. Fortunately, you can change up some of the attachments on this blueprint, which is why we suggest copying our best meta DG-58 loadout if you want to give this class a run: Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor – Barrel: Wudi Long Barrel – Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x – Stock: Recoil Reduction Buttplate – Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip – The scale of the advantages provided by the Bone Structure blueprint don’t seem to be so wild that the Warzone devs, Raven Software, will be rushing to change it at all or nerf the skin, but it may now be on their minds when it comes to future blueprints. One thing that they have had to rush to fix, though, is the reload glitch that has ruined matches for many after the Season 3 Reloaded update.

Pay-to-win Warzone invisible skin still ruining matches after 2 weeks – Dexerto
Pay-to-win Warzone invisible skin still ruining matches after 2 weeks ActivisionThe Call of Duty: Warzone invisible skin is, after two weeks, still on the loose. Without any indication of an incoming fix, player patience is growing thin as the “pay-to-win” Battle Pass Operator wreaks havoc. Have you noticed a weird, floating orange mask in Warzone – or the inability to see people shooting at you from far away? There is a shared, mysterious nightmare plaguing the Warzone community. And, even if you didn’t realize, you may have been a victim yourself. If you’ve noticed the invisible Warzone skin, you’re probably already annoyed by it and we’re simply preaching to the choir here. If you haven’t noticed it, that’s entirely understandable – it is literally invisible and, therefore, hard to notice. Basically, the Tier 100 Operator skin in the Vanguard and Pacific Season 1 Battle Pass is glitched. Called the “Awoken Francis,” the bug completely camouflages everything but the operator’s mask past 35 meters. And it’s still not fixed. Warzone invisible skin ignored by devs for 2 weeks Fix pay to win invisible operator skin? Maybe? pic.twitter.com/oQ08scqq15 — Fallen_EH (@fallen_eh) December 28, 2021 The glitch was first noticed back around December 15, when concerns surrounding the pay-to-win skin bubbled up. And, with Raven Software tweeting about new events about two weeks later, users are asking where the fix is. As shown in a video from ‘Fallen_Eh,’ Warzone’s invisible skin can be spotted simply by a floating mask in the distance. And they had a simple question for the devs: “Fix pay to win invisible operator skin?” And Fallen_Eh is far from alone in wondering when and where a fix will be, as numerous streamers are also voicing concern. Warzone streamers frustrated with invisible skin how have they not fixed the invisible skin in warzone yet? Like????? — Em (@Swishem) December 29, 2021 A New York Subliner streamer and frequent tournament competitor, Swishem appears absolutely baffled that the bugged skin still exists. On December 28, the gamer asked: “How have they not fixed the invisible skin in warzone yet?” And there’s no answer to that question just yet. The issue doesn’t even exist on Raven Software’s Trello board for known problems at the moment. With quality assurance testers on strike and the studios on holiday break, it’s unclear when the pay-to-win Warzone invisible skin will finally get sorted out.

Pay-to-win Warzone exploit lets you keep your full loadout after death – Dexerto
Pay-to-win Warzone exploit lets you keep your full loadout after death ActivisionThe latest game-breaking Warzone exploit completely alters the pace of the CoD battle royale as players have figured out a way to respawn with their full loadouts after dying. Another day, another new bug impacting the state of Warzone. Outside of the odd visual glitch or map-related problem, a number of gameplay issues have also risen to the surface in recent weeks. The latest happens to interfere with one of the core pillars of the battle royale experience. Getting your loadout in Warzone has always been something you have to earn. Whether it’s paying through a Buy Station or fighting to a random drop spot on the map, there’s always a process. If you die, you have to start from scratch and track down another loadout by any means. At least, that’s how things worked up until the launch of Caldera. A game-changing exploit has been uncovered on the new Warzone map – one that bypasses the need to earn a loadout. Even after dying and respawning, there’s now a way to keep your strongest weapons in-hand. Just by having the right Lethal Equipment equipped, players are able to break Warzone. Dexerto can confirm premium Throwing Knives are the key behind this new exploit. Using either the electric or flaming variant ensures your loadout sticks between lives. No matter what weapons or perks you happen to be using, you’re able to keep them after dying. This means you can stockpile cash after the first loadout, and even drop right back into the action after respawning. There’s no need to hunt down contracts or land in a hot location to fight for another set of elite guns. Given how easy this exploit is to enable, it’s safe to expect just about everyone to have Throwing Knives equipped moving forward. Developers are yet to issue a response and this particular glitch isn’t yet tracked on the official Warzone Trello board. We’ll be sure to keep you posted if that changes anytime soon.

“Pay to win” SMG dominates Warzone with cleanest optic yet – Dexerto
“Pay to win” SMG dominates Warzone with cleanest optic yet ActivisionThere is a new “pay to win” SMG in Warzone, as one Call of Duty expert believes its new iron sights make the weapon “broken” as players can see much clearer than before. As Call of Duty has gotten deeper into the in-game store side of things, recent games have had to contend with a number of problematic guns, skins, and other add-ons that aren’t supposed to give players a competitive advantage but end up doing just that. These ‘pay-to-win’ items have run riot at times, especially when it comes to Warzone. Players won’t forget the likes of the MAC-10 Gallantry blueprint or the blackout Roze skin anytime soon. However, according to Warzone expert JoeWo, there is another “pay to win” gun in the battle royale right now, and that’s the Poisoned Caress BlackCell blueprint for the AMR9 that you can get from the Season 4 battle pass. Just like the Bone Structure blueprint for the DG-58, which Joe pointed out as well, this blueprint gives the already powerful SMG a much clearer set of iron sights. “It makes the AMR9 iron sights absolutely broken,” the YouTuber said in his June 17 video. “Now, that is the number one problem with the AMR9. The iron sights are probably the worst in Call of Duty history if you don’t have this blueprint.” Muzzle: ZEHM35 Compensated Flash Hider – Underbarrel: XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop – Stock: JAK Cut Throat – Rear Grip: Phantom Grip – Magazine: 50-round mag – With this being a BlackCell blueprint, you’ll have to shell out a little more than the normal battle pass, so it’s not only pay to win but expensive too. If it becomes a widespread problem then you probably shouldn’t discount the chances that the devs nerf the iron sights a little. So, if you miss out in the future, tough luck.

“Pay to win” MW3 rifle will take over Warzone in Season 4 Reloaded – Dexerto
“Pay to win” MW3 rifle will take over Warzone in Season 4 Reloaded ActivisionOne of Modern Warfare 3’s most popular assault rifles actually has a “pay to win” twist to it in Warzone, as you don’t suffer from any visual effects while shooting. Over the last few years, Call of Duty has had to contend with its fair share of pay to win items, especially when it comes to Warzone. Not only have we had skins that make you pretty impossible to see, but we’ve also had weapons with increased damage and zero recoil. While the devs have, at times, shut down some of these, a few new examples have popped up over the last few weeks. This includes the Fallout Atomic Disintegrator optic for the AMR9, and the Poisoned Caress BlackCell blueprint. Well, Warzone expert Metaphor – who is actually the overall kill leader for the battle royale – has highlighted another “pay to win” gun in the form of the Atomic Beam blueprint for the MTZ-556. “The MTZ-556 pay to win pack-a-punch blueprint. This thing is absolutely crazy but there is something special that you have to do,” the YouTuber said in his June 25 video, noting you absolutely have to run the Atomic Beam skin and variant of the MTZ Clinch Pro Barrel. “If you guys are just running the barrel, you don’t get the same sounds but you do get the no smoke or screen shake when you’re using it. This thing is insane, even without this, it’s probably the best AR in the entire game.” Muzzle: XTEN Havoc 90 – Barrel: Atomic Beam – MTZ Clinch Pro Barrel – Optic: JAK Glassless Optic – Magazine: 5.56 High Velocity – Ammunition: 50-round drum – As Metaphor points out, the blueprint is a part of the Mobile Suit Gundam Aerial pack, so many players may have already picked it up from the in-game store. He added that should the nerfs fall the way he’s expecting in Season 4 Reloaded, the MTZ-556 will become the gun that everyone runs. So, if that’s the case, the blueprint may have to be adjusted. For now, however, it’s clearly doing some serious damage.

“Pay to win” MW3 blueprint gives off-meta SMG much-needed buff – Dexerto
“Pay to win” MW3 blueprint gives off-meta SMG much-needed buff ActivisionOne of the Season 4 weapon blueprints may start getting “pay to win” accusations soon as it makes one of the less popular SMGs in Modern Warfare 3 way better to use in Warzone. The Warzone meta regularly changes, but one consistent is that you’ll almost always have a submachine gun as your secondary weapon, able to pull out hastily in close-quarters gunfights and beam your opponents, whether it’s regular BR on Urzikstan or resurgence on Rebirth Island or Fortune’s Keep. If you’re looking to step away slightly from the Warzone meta weapons and try something different, though, the AMR9 could be a great pick — but you’ll need a certain blueprint to get the most out of it. The Poisoned Caress BlackCell blueprint in the Season 4 Battle Pass can be unlocked by completing Sector 11, and there are two key changes that make it far better in Warzone than the standard AMR9. The first change is the iron sights: the regular AMR9 has very thick rounded iron sights that impede visibility, meaning if you want to use it seriously in Warzone, you’d likely want to put an optic on it. With this blueprint, though, the iron sights are more reminiscent to former meta SMGs like the ISO 45, much cleaner and easier to use. Not only that but in Warzone, you’re likely going to want to use an extended magazine, like the 50 Round Mag. This slows down reloads on the weapon, but with the Poisoned Caress BlackCell blueprint, reload speeds will be twice as fast, meaning you can get in and out of the action significantly quicker. Whether the gun can challenge meta picks such as the best Superi 46 class is up for debate, but it is certainly a huge improvement on the base AMR9 and could make for a more fun pick for those looking to stray a little from the meta.

“Pay to win” meta Warzone SMG gives you the cleanest iron sights yet – Dexerto
“Pay to win” meta Warzone SMG gives you the cleanest iron sights yet ActivisionWarzone seemingly has another “pay to win” blueprint with some of the cleanest iron sights we’ve ever seen, and it actually works for one of the best guns in the battle royale. When you buy something from the COD Store in-game, you’re not supposed to get a competitive advantage. However, over the last few years, there have been quite a few pay to win cosmetics and weapon blueprints. We’ve had everything from character skins that basically make you impossible to see and loadouts that actually increase the base damage of guns. In recent weeks, Warzone has had a few more pay to win blueprints pop up, but they’ve not offered damage bonuses. Instead, they’ve been all about clean iron sights and making guns zero recoil. Well, Warzone guru TheKoreanSavage has highlighted another – the Along for the Ride blueprint for the Striker SMG’s 8-Bit Blitz bundle. “When something is broken, absolutely pay to win, I have to hop on and see what’s going on,” the YouTuber said in his July 18 video. This blueprint does come with a pretty nice optic anyway, but when you remove it, the iron sights are so clean that the SMG doesn’t move. “The thing doesn’t move,” he added, noting that the SMG has a “pretty cool” look to boot. Barrel: Striker Recon Long barrel – Underbarrel: SL Skeletal Vertical Grip – Magazine: 60-round drum – Stock: Lachmann Recon Series Stock – With this bundle being labeled as pay to win, and the Striker being a key part of the meta, it creates a bigger problem where players are likely to drop everything and flock to it. They might not have all that long to use it, mind you, as the Season 5 update is on the horizon. That will provide another round of weapon updates, and with the meta getting a bit stale, it could be rather good news for those players who want other options.

“Pay to win” Fallout bundle has one of Warzone’s most broken optics – Dexerto
“Pay to win” Fallout bundle has one of Warzone’s most broken optics ActivisionWarzone’s Fallout-inspired Vault Dweller bundle has come under fire as being “pay to win” by one top player as they believe the Atomic Disintegrator optic is pretty “broken” in-game. Despite plenty of fans calling for more realism and realistic skins, Call of Duty has gotten deeper and deeper into the crossover side of things over the last few years. The most recent crossover, with Fallout, was an exciting one off the bat. Players had hoped they’d be able to get Brotherhood of Steel-esque skins, but instead, it’s just a set of character skins in Vault 141 gear, as well as two weapon blueprints, and tracers. It’s the Atomic Disintegrator blueprint for the AMR9 that has caught the attention of Warzone guru Metaphor, however, as he highlighted the optic that comes with it as being “pay to win” because of how clean it is. “The Fallout bundle actually has something that is insane. It is a brand-new thermal scope that is pay to win,” he said in his June 20 video. “The only issue with the scope is on keyboard and mouse, some of the smoke that kicks up when you start shooting the gun does get in the way a little bit but if you’re on controller, this scope is going to be top-tier meta.” The YouTuber added that the Atomic Disintegrator scope is a variant of the FSS Spectre Microtherm and can be put on a variety of weapons. You don’t just have to use it on the AMR9. He added that it is “rather hard” to use in point-blank fights, but if you use it on an Assault Rifle or LMG in longer-range fights, you’re going to see enemies pretty much painted in luminous green down scope. It isn’t the only “pay to win” scope that has popped up in recent weeks either. JoeWo highlighted the Bone Structure blueprint for the DG-58 LSW as it’s scope makes players pretty easy to see. There is also the Poisoned Caress BlackCell blueprint for the AMR9 that has a rather clean optic as well.

“Pathetic and Embarrassing” – JKap Vents Frustration After Luminosity Misses Stage 2 Playoffs – Dexerto
“Pathetic and Embarrassing” – JKap Vents Frustration After Luminosity Misses Stage 2 Playoffs Jordan ‘JKap’ Kaplan has taken to Twitter to vent his frustrations after Luminosity Gaming failed to make playoffs for Stage 2 of the CWL Pro League. The two time Call of Duty World Champion has reached the playoff stage for all previous Call of Duty Pro Leagues and has come to expect it from himself and any team that he is playing for. A 3-1 loss to eUnited on July 18 officially ended Luminosity’s chances of making it out of Division B in Stage 2 and JKap has now referred to the team’s regular season performance as “pathetic and embarrassing”. Been in every CoD league since they started and haven’t missed playoffs until now. Absolutely pathetic and embarassing performance this stage — Jordan Kaplan (@JKap415) July 18, 2018 Luminosity lost Sam ‘Octane’ Larew to OpTic Gaming before Stage 2 began, but they gained Matthew ‘FormaL’ Piper in the exchange. It was expected that a fierce rivalry between the two teams would be a feature for the rest of the Call of Duty: WWII season but, despite a promising third place finish at CWL Anaheim, Luminosity appears to be struggling with the new roster more than OpTic. FormaL’s CoD: WWII struggles continue. Meanwhile, OpTic Gaming currently sits on top of Division B with a record of 10-3. Rise Nation, eUnited, and UNILAD all hold records of 9-4 so the last day of matches on July 19 will decide the final seeding going into playoffs. The last match for Luminosity will be against OpTic. Despite missing out on a playoff spot, JKap, John and SLACKED will be motivated to deny Octane the chance of finishing in first place, while FormaL will feel the same about his former teammates. Apart from that, all focus for Luminosity will now be on the Call of Duty World Championship which takes place from August 15 – 19.

Patch Notes for the May 3rd CoD: WWII Weapon Tuning Hotfix – ITRA Burst, BAR, and More – Dexerto
Patch Notes for the May 3rd CoD: WWII Weapon Tuning Hotfix – ITRA Burst, BAR, and More A new ‘weapon tuning’ Hotfix has been introduced by Sledgehammer Games which adresses a collection of issues. Following its release in November of 2017, Call of Duty: WWII soared to the top of the charts by bringing in a staggering $1 billion in sales over the course of mere months. The highly anticipated return of traditional ‘boots on the ground’ combat generated a massive amount of hype among the community following three years of ‘jetpack’ titles, which was a major selling point for old-school fans. Sledgehammer Games have continued to provide numerous updates and patches over the course of recent months to ensure the best possible gaming experience, especially in terms of addressing various bugs and glitches. On May 3rd, a new Hotfix was introduced which made adjustments to weapons such as the ITRA Burst, Bar, Gewehr 43, and more, along with addressing an issue with the ‘Grand Master Prestige Level 1000’ glitch. The full patch notes can be viewed below. Call of Duty: WWII Patch Notes – May 3rd MULTIPLAYER Pushed through a Phase 1 fix for issue where after a Grand Master Prestige Level 1000 player gets a kill, the whole lobby experiences drop in FPS. We will monitor and assess if a Phase 2 fix is required. – WEAPON TUNING ITRA Burst Burst cool down nerf – Very slight fire rate nerf – Advanced Rifling attachment nerf (specific to ITRA Burst) – Very slight ADS re-center time nerf – The data we gathered since the ITRA Burst’s release has shown that this weapon is out-performing the design intent. The weapon is meant to perform based off the players ability to be accurate with every shot, and be penalized with misses. With the weapon’s current tuning, the data suggests that the weapon’s penalty for missing isn’t great enough, given its power and damage potential. We have worked on testing the above changes for the last week to try and find a good spot that still allows this weapon to thrive and be powerful, while not giving players the room for error that they have been given prior to these changes. Gewehr 43 Fire rate buff – Contrary to the ITRA Burst, the Gewehr 43’s data has led us to conclude that this weapon is too difficult to use in comparison to its damage potential. This change should allow players a strong ability to sling shots rapidly and make better use of the deadly accuracy this weapon provides with a slightly higher damage potential with the increased fire rate. BAR Slight ADS transition time nerf – Slight ADS transition time from sprint nerf – The BAR has seen a resurgence in the META since the Division changes; more specifically, the Infantry Division change that reduces the ADS idle sway. This is a tuning parameter for the BAR, as it effects the weapon’s consistency. The BAR’s damage output is more consistently achievable in shorter ranges. This is due to the weapon’s accuracy being increased when playing with the BAR-Infantry Division combination. Given that, we have determined that slowing down the ADS transition times slightly is the best way to tone down the weapon’s strength so that it falls more in line with the other rifles. Semi-Automatic Pistols (P-08, M1911, 9MM SAP) Slightly improved accuracy – While the Machine Pistol remains the most used pistol, we are buffing the semi-automatic pistols so that they yield more consistent results when shooting accurately. As always, we are looking for your feedback and want to make the game as enjoyable as possible. So try out the above weapons with the new changes and let us know what you think! Thanks, Sledgehammer Games Source: Reddit

Below are the notes on the top new features and fixes we’ll be pushing. FEATURE UPDATES: NEW Division: COMMANDO – Commandos are versatile, self-sufficient soldiers that excel at capitalizing on an advantage. Equipped with a personal Paratrooper Insert, combatants in this new division can drop into battle from the skies, either landing behind enemy lines or right next to the objective. On top of their ability to get into the action faster than any other division, Commandos boast a variety of benefits that are activated when they perform well. Not only do they regenerate health quicker, but killing an enemy soldier instantly activates health regeneration, allowing the Commando to get into the next fight even sooner. On top of that, multikills and headshots grant additional score as well as ammo. Playing as a Commando can give you the upper hand when fighting a group of enemies, but only if you’re able to keep these abilities active. Finally, Commandos of the highest rank can equip two Basic Trainings at all times. Patch 1.07 is live for Black Ops 4 – Full patch notes – Dexerto
Patch 1.07 is live for Black Ops 4 – Full patch notes A huge update for Black Ops 4 has just dropped featuring widespread changes to every mode. The update is 9GB on the PlayStation 4 and 10.95GB on the Xbox One. The PC update will come later on November 20. In addition to adding Nuketown to both Xbox One and PC, Treyarch has released a number of improvements for Blackout, Multiplayer, and Zombies. This patch features major weapon balancing for both console and PC players. On console, the Swordfish and ABR 223 have received buffs to their recoil to bring them in line with what Treyarch originally intended for that class of weapons. Additionally, Treyarch noted that the SMG buffs from the last balance pass were too strong for PC user and as such, they have dialed those back to “best suit the needs of [the] PC community.” Sticking with Multiplayer, various Scorestreaks saw the scores needed for each one adjusted. Some, like the Dart and Lightning Strike, were reduced, while others, like the RC-XD and Hellstorm, were increased. For our Zombies players, we’re delivering 70+ crash fixes and gameplay improvements today, making this stability pass even bigger than last week’s major update. See below for the full list, including fixes for crashes and bugs across all four maps, UI improvements, and more. As we continue to identify and address more specific Zombies gameplay scenarios that could cause the game to crash, our primary focus is now on taking care of the remaining stability issues in high-round play. We have bolstered our ability to research and investigate these issues, and have several fixes in the works that will be rolled out in the near future. Pat McAfee crew jokes Kyler Murray’s CoD connection could bring Scump to the NFL – Dexerto
Pat McAfee crew jokes Kyler Murray’s CoD connection could bring Scump to the NFL Pat McAfee Show/Twitter: ScumpPat McAfee and friends were discussing Kyler Murray’s future following Kliff Kingsbury’s exit as Arizona Cardinals head coach and CoD legend Scump Abner was a name jokingly floated to take the reins. Scump is an iconic name in the world of Call of Duty. Nicknamed ‘The King’ for a reason, the 27-year-old phenom has collected 30 major event wins in his decade-long career. While he still has most of a season left to play before he rides off into the sunset (with a new roster at that), it seems like the Pat Mcafee crew has an idea of where he could take his talents next. When discussing the news that the Cardinals’ star QB Kyler Murray will have some input on who the franchise hires next, Abner’s name came up thanks to a shared Call of Duty connection. Pat McAfee show crew jokes that Scump could coach the Arizona Cardinals after CDL retirement While the conversation started around current University of Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh potentially walking into coach the young signal caller, the alleged connection between Murray’s on-field performance and the yearly CoD release schedule made for prime joke territory. In the middle of a serious debate over who the next man up should be, cohost Tone Digz dropped a bomb of an idea. “What if OpTic Scump is the new Head Coach of the Cardinals…it’s a guy that Kyler has a lot of respect for,” he suggested. While McAfee himself was once again a little confused by the inner workings of pro Call of Duty organizations, he did make a salient point about Kyler Murray being aligned with FaZe Clan but quickly recognized that the gaming community “doesn’t see any strangers” and that mutual respect could go a long way. This isn’t the first time that Scump has been a topic on the well-regarded football-based show either. The former World Champion came up once before which is likely what led to this callback in the first place. OpTic Texas invites Pat McAfee to CDL Major III in Texas After clips from the show made it onto Twitter, the official OpTic Texas account wasted no time in replying. There was an invite to their home Major tweeted personally to McAfee within minutes. He has yet to respond one way or another, but given that this relationship keeps finding a way to develop, there’s still hope yet that CDL fans might get to see their favorite former punter and his gang of friends cheering on the Greenwall during the second weekend in March.

Paris Legion add oJohnny ahead of CDL Major 4 qualifiers – Dexerto
Paris Legion add oJohnny ahead of CDL Major 4 qualifiers Call of Duty LeagueThe Paris Legion is switching out Call of Duty veteran Johnathan ‘John’ Perez for young talent Giancarlos ‘oJohnny’ Carrasco ahead of the Major 4 Qualifiers this weekend. The Legion have had a rough go in CDL 2022 with bottom-of-the-table finishes in almost every big event since Kickoff. With only 20 CDL Points to its name, Paris is mixing it up to finish the season with some potential building blocks for the future. To that end, they’re adding in 18-year-old oJohnny that Legion Head Coach Dylan ‘Theory’ McGee hopes will ‘spark’ new life into the org’s season so far. Though it’s a longshot to qualify to Major 4 at this point, the fleur-de-lis will be excited to see how the promising CoD player performs in the big leagues. Paris signs oJohnny to CDL roster The Paris Legion announced the addition of oJohnny on June 23, just three days before they’re expected to face the Seattle Surge to open their Major 4 Qual campaign. oJohnny will slot next to Donovan ‘Temp’ Laroda, Thomas ‘GRVTY’ Malin, and Bryan ‘Jimbo’ Sabman while John steps down to the bench for the remainder of the stage. Meanwhile, coach Theory is ecstatic to see the green talent get some first-hand experience at CDL-level competition at such a young age. “Happy to have oJohnny on the team going into Major 4 qualifiers!” Theory said. “Hoping my mans energy and passion can give us a spark for the remainder of the season.” Happy to have @oJhnny on the team going into Major 4 qualifiers! Hoping my mans energy and passion can give us a spark for the remainder of the season #EnGarde https://t.co/5cLk3yjCuP — Dylan (@DMTheory) June 23, 2022 oJohnny expressed his gratitude on making the team, saying: “Glad to be on board with this squad can’t wait to show what we can do.” The Legion moved on oJohnny after his performances for LAG Enterprises, a Challengers team with CoD World Champ James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks, veteran Tyler ‘FeLo’ Johnson, and new LAG signee Kris ‘Spart’ Cervantez. Paris Legion CDL 2021 preview: mountain to climb for ragtag roster – Dexerto
Paris Legion CDL 2021 preview: mountain to climb for ragtag roster Call of Duty LeagueThe newly formed Paris Legion roster has the odds stacked against them heading into the 2021 Call of Duty League season, with a varied group of players from different backgrounds, it’s going to be an uphill battle but major upsets could still be in the cards. After a relatively poor showing throughout the inaugural season, Paris Legion was one of a few teams to dump its entire roster. All starting and substitute players were let go to make way for a random assortment of new additions that no one could have predicted. The new lineup has a wealth of experience behind them, but these players have actually never worked together before. There’s no history among the group and no cohesion within the team just yet. While they should be outclassed by most competitors on paper in 2021, there’s still a chance Legion’s new lineup could cause some big upsets this year. Paris Legion CDL 2021 roster Paris Legion shifting gears in 2021 With the original Legion roster, there was some kind of direction when building the team. You had a trio of experienced Aussies joining a handful of Europe’s top prospects. The combination made some amount of sense. With the new Legion roster, however, it appears as though there’s very little direction behind it. You’ve now got a random amalgamation of CDL talent hopping into the lobby with an unknown quantity in Fire. Skrapz, AquA, and Classic have almost two decades of combined experience. They’ve seen and done it all over the years with time spent under many of the most reputable organizations in the world. Moreover, they all have a year of CDL experience under their belt. Skrapz helped lead the Royal Ravens to a fourth-place finish at last year’s Champs. Classic secured a Home Series win in Week 13 with Toronto Ultra. While AquA’s best placement came in Week 9 with a Top Four finish. 🇫🇷 Découvrez notre nouveau roster pour la saison 2021. #EnGarde @skrapzg @Fire40 @UAquaa @Classic Coach : @DMTheory pic.twitter.com/yoTNStWgeR — Vegas Legion (@LasVegasLegion) December 31, 2020 Meanwhile, the 18-year-old up and comer Fire, has barely a few months of experience at the amateur level. His initial run in the NA Challengers circuit saw nothing but Top Four finishes from June to August in 2020. Despite his lack of pro experience, Fire has already proven to be one of the hottest rookies to keep an eye on this year. While not much to go off, Legion’s first showing against the London Royal Ravens in the Kickoff Classic gave us our first look at the team in action. Read More: Top 20 highest earning Warzone players – Fire managed to remain neutral or positive across the five map series, even leading his team in kills throughout the second Hardpoint, putting up 31 eliminations. Having only just come together in recent weeks, Legion has very little time to properly mesh and work on strategies for the upcoming season. That being said, their raw gun skill might just be enough to help them overcome this hurdle while they get used to one another. Not only is their first time playing together, but they’ve “barely even spoken before,” Skrapz said in a post-game interview on January 25. “I’m really enjoying it though, all three of them want to get better. Every single day’s a grind.” While they might not be closing out Majors and sweeping the best teams in the league, there’s certainly potential for Legion to be a dark horse in 2021.

In 2019, from January to April, he served as Red Reserve’s substitute at the CWL Pro League, before being let go when the organization dismantled and sold its league spot to FaZe Clan. Louqa joined the Australian side in September of 2018 after having spent the previous four years with eight different organizations. During the 2019 CWL season, he filled the substitute role for Gen.G, but was never called upon to play. After failing to qualify for the league, they went on to place first at the open events in London and Anaheim, following a second-place finish at Fort Worth. However, at the Amateur Finals, they shocked the Call of Duty scene by finishing 25-32, which meant that they would stunningly fail to qualify for the CWL Championships in Los Angeles. As for Denz, he left Mindfreak in September 2018 to join Team Reciprocity, where he was initially part of the starting lineup, was then demoted to the substitute’s role in March, but then returned to the starting squad in May. KiSMET and Breszy both featured for Enigma6 Group during the 2019 season, with the latter joining very late into the campaign after parting ways with Elevate. Their squad put in perhaps the most surprising performance at Champs, finishing all the way up in fourth place after taking down the likes of Luminosity and UNITS in the Winners Bracket. Read More: CoD pros stunned by Call of Duty Mobile – Zed had a very strong season with Team Reciprocity after joining in October 2018, as the team had some good placings throughout the season, including a top-six finish at Champs. Phantomz spent much of Black Ops 4 bouncing from team to team, at one point ending up with FaZe Clan, who subsequently loaned him out to Evil Geniuses and UYU, with whom he completed the season. The Paris franchise is the third one to have confirmed its entire starting roster, following New York and London, who announced their full lineups on September 27 and 29 respectively. Minnesota have revealed three of their players, along with their coach, while Atlanta have announced three coaches/analysts, but have yet to make any player signings public. Parasite to replace Zer0 on London Royal Ravens in short-term deal for CDL Stage 1 – Dexerto
Parasite to replace Zer0 on London Royal Ravens in short-term deal for CDL Stage 1 Call of Duty LeagueThe London Royal Ravens have signed former Call of Duty world champion Christian ‘Parasite’ Duarte on a two-week deal as they wait for Trei ‘Zer0’ Morris to get into the United States in order to compete. With the start of the Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War season on the horizon, team lineups have been in place for a while, and scrims have been taking place. The Royal Ravens, however, have been one team who’ve found themselves in a bit of a pickle. The majority of their players have been in the United States, with the exception of Trei ‘Zer0’ Morris. Rumors have been floating around about them trying out different players in Zer0’s spot, but they’ve settled on former CoD World Champion Chrisitan Parasite Duarte – at least on a temporary basis. Parasite will join the Ravens ahead of the first real event of the Black Ops Cold War season – the Atlanta FaZe Opening Weekend – where they face the Seattle Surge in their opening game on Sunday, February 14. Parasite Suggests Two Key Steps That Could Help Competitive CoD Grow – Dexerto
Parasite Suggests Two Key Steps That Could Help Competitive CoD Grow DexertoChristopher ‘Parasite’ Duarte has shared his thoughts on how to help competitive Call of Duty grow and reach a larger audience. The 2013 Call of Duty world champion has never been one to shy away from debates like the current hot topic of whether all weapons should be allowed to be used in competitive CoD. Parasite responded to people suggesting that it would make CoD esports more popular by saying “people are drunk if they think allowing everything would make competitive bigger” and “cheesy equipment isn’t going to make things more entertaining or visually pleasing”. OpTic, Luminosity, compLexity and Envy to Boot Camp Together Ahead of CoD Champs 2018 The 24-year-old also thinks that having skins, or camos, is of the utmost importance, saying “skins for the love of god”. As for skins statement, items that can be purchased in-game, whether they are esports specific or not, seem to be a constant factor in most major esports titles. From Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to Overwatch and Dota 2 to Fortnite, the incentive to earn, or purchase, new skins and items seems to be key in keeping players actively invested in a game.

Parasite slams Xotic as “scum” after losing CWL Vegas spot to Evil Geniuses – Dexerto
Parasite slams Xotic as “scum” after losing CWL Vegas spot to Evil Geniuses Evil Geniuses look set to the take the final pool play spot at the CWL Vegas Open with the addition of John ‘Xotic’ Bruno to their lineup – much to the annoyance of Christopher ‘Parasite’ Duarte. Andres ‘Lacefield’ Lacefield joined Evil Geniuses back in October, and it was expected that he would be a member of the EG squad who would head to Las Vegas to compete in the first event of the Black Ops 4 season. However, Lacefield tweeted early on Thursday, November 15 announcing that he was now a free agent for the Black Ops 4 season, and looking for a new team to play with. While Evil Geniuses have yet to officially confirm who is replacing Lacefield on their squad, Parasite took to Twitter to reveal that Xotic had left his team for EG. Parasite was angry with his former teammate, labelling him as “scum” for giving away their pool play spot, and for failing to tell his team he was leaving which Parasite claims “he knew for days.” Xotic sketched for EG and gave away our pool play spot to a team we are better than lmfao. He didn’t even tell us until just now and he knew for days. Scum. — Christopher Duarte (@Parasite) November 15, 2018 Xotic immediately disputed these claims, stating that he didn’t know he was leaving until Tuesday. Still furious at the way Xotic left his team, Parasite posted a scathing response, telling Xotic: “Pipe down. You’re worthless. You’re not a friend of mine and I honestly hope the rest of your career is plagued with failure. You will never be a champion. You are a coward.” Pipe down. You’re worthless. You’re not a friend of mine and I honestly hope the rest of your career is plagued with failure. You will never be a champion. You are a coward. — Christopher Duarte (@Parasite) November 15, 2018 The acquisition of Xotic would likely give Evil Geniuses enough pro points to sneak into the final pool play place for CWL Vegas, leaving Parasite and his squad to take part in the eight team play-in tournament to confirm the final four spots. CWL Vegas open takes place from December 7 to 9 in the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, with $250,000 in prize money and a spot in the 2019 CWL Pro League at stake. We will update you with more information as it becomes available.

Parasite slams CoD League and pro players for ‘robbing his career’ – Dexerto
Parasite slams CoD League and pro players for ‘robbing his career’ Christopher ‘Parasite’ Duarte has lashed out at Activision’s seeding system ahead of the Call of Duty League, which is set to kick off in 2020 on Modern Warfare. Modern Warfare has brought with it a host of changes to the Call of Duty series. Alongside the plethora of changes to multiplayer, Activision will be launching the first season of a franchised league in 2020. Twelve teams are set to lock horns in a bid to earn their right to play-offs at the end of the spring and summer season splits, respectively. Following successful qualification, all teams will go head-to-head in the Championship Weekend at the tail end of the season. However, although the prospect of franchising coming to Call of Duty seems perky from the outside, its cut-throat manner has left long-time pros scraping for their careers. Under the new system, each player who is recruited by a professional team is automatically allocated 15,000 pro points — including substitute players on a franchised roster. For players such as Parasite, this means that they will have to accrue pro points through grinding officially sanctioned events. By contrast, those hand-picked to be on a pro roster will not have to undertake the same efforts to maintain their seeding. Evidently frustrated by the pro point system, Duarte lashed out while breezing past a pro team during a match on-stream. The former world champion was annoyed by how the system effectively safeguards professional teams. “They can take their 15k gifted pro points and shove them up their f**king ass,” Parasite said. “That’s sh*ts a f**king joke!” The 25-year-old pro continued to vent by saying: “My career literally is robbed by people who don’t f**king deserve it.” Standing by his point, Parasite released a series of Tweets to clarify exactly what he meant by his comments. I am passionate. I am relentless. I was raised to always stick up for myself and what I believe in even if it goes against the grain. If that offends you so be it. But it’s who I am and always will be. — Chris (@Parasite) November 17, 2019 He also hit back at fellow player Tom ‘GRVTY’ Malin, suggesting he was “blessed” with a substitute spot thanks to personal friendships, arguing that his ‘accolades’ alone do not merit it. I wasnt dropped from any of my last pro league teams? EG dropped out of CoD. Ghost gaming dropped out of CoD and Midnight i was on to the end of the year. You get blessed on a sub spot because of your IRL friends. BLESSED. Garbage. — Chris (@Parasite) November 17, 2019 Duarte sparked interest on the CoDCompetitive subreddit, with plenty of fans defending his corner in-light of the league’s structure. The Call of Duty League is set to kick-off in Minnesota on January 24 –26, where various teams will be looking to get off to a quick start.

Parasite sets ultimatum for quitting professional Call of Duty – Dexerto
Parasite sets ultimatum for quitting professional Call of Duty Christopher ‘Parasite’ Duarte has cast doubts over his future as a professional Call of Duty player, revealing to fans that his retirement is on the horizon. The Black Ops 2 World Champion made a solid start to the Black Ops 4 season, linking up with the Pittsburgh Knights organization prior to the first event of the year – CWL Vegas. Parasite’s squad qualified for Vegas after making their way through the play-in event, finishing in the top 16 teams at the tournament. Despite adding two veteran players prior to the start of the Pro League Qualifier, the Knights could only muster up a 21-24 placing – meaning they wouldn’t be a Pro League team for 2019. The team has since disbanded and now Parasite may be hanging up the sticks for good. On February 17, the former Fariko Impact star tweeted: “If I don’t get a CWL offer around March I’ll be quitting CoD and taking a chance at competing in whatever Apex Legends future competitive scene holds.” Read More: How to watch the Black Ops 4 CWL Pro League – streams, schedule, scores, standings, and more – He added: “I’m not entirely sure where to begin so if any of my H1Z1 pals can point me in the right direction that would be great. I’m not entirely sure where to begin so if any of my H1Z1 pals can point me in the right direction that would be great 🙂 thanks:pray::skin-tone-3: — Christopher Duarte (@Parasite) February 18, 2019 Organizations have already begun searching for players and content creators but nothing has been announced by Respawn Entertainment. However, the game is only two weeks old so something may happen not too far down the line – and Parasite is in prime position to make the move, provided no Pro League team makes an offer to acquire him and his championship experience.

Parasite reveals how he “blessed” OpTic’s Dashy during contract struggles – Dexerto
Parasite reveals how he “blessed” OpTic’s Dashy during contract struggles Call of Duty veteran Chris ‘Parasite’ Duarte has revealed an interesting story from his time on CompLexity in the 2018 season, recalling that he helped current OpTic player Brandon ‘Dashy’ Otell in a tough contract situation. Dashy joined Enigma6 alongside Embry ‘Bevils’ Bevil, Jacob ‘Decemate’ Cato and Jordon ‘General’ General, at the start of the CoD: WWII season, but after a poor first event the team didn’t last long. Both Bevils and Decemate left, but Dashy was reportedly held to his contract by E6, who were keen to keep his talents, but after another disappointing top 16 placing at CWL New Orleans, Dashy finally got his move. He was recruited by CompLexity, who at the time was Parasite, Tyler ‘FeLo’ Johnson and Jeremy ‘StuDyy’ Astacio, with Dashy rounding out the four man roster. Presumably CompLexity had simply decided to buy out Dashy’s contract with Enigma6, and E6 agreed to the deal, but it turns out Parasite had a direct involvement in the negotiations. During a live stream on December 12, following Dashy’s win at CWL Vegas, Parasite asked the now OpTic Gaming star “remember when I gave [compLexity] my first salary check to buy you out of E6? […] I blessed this man, otherwise he was trapped.” Parasite later confirmed that it was his whole paycheck for the month, amounting to $4,000 – proving his belief in the young rising star. Dashy also confirmed Parasite’s version of events too, saying “That’s why Chris is my guy.” Of course, it’s impossible to know exactly how negotiations went down, and how Parasite convinced CompLexity to acquire Dashy from Enigma6, but since then Dashy’s career has sky rocketed. Recruited by OpTic for the Black Ops 4 season, the Canadian’s dominant performance at the first event of the season not only helped his team take 1st place, but also land him the MVP trophy.

Parasite reportedly set to join London Royal Ravens for CDL 2021 season – Dexerto
Parasite reportedly set to join London Royal Ravens for CDL 2021 season Midnight Esports / Twitter, @RoyalRavensRecent reports suggest that World Champion Christopher ‘Parasite’ Duarte is set to join the Call of Duty League’s London Royal Ravens, as the CDL team struggles to overcome 2021 visa issues. Sources have told Dot Esports’ Corey Davis that veteran CoD pro colloquially known as “Haggy” could soon be making his highly anticipated debut in the CDL. A professional competitor since 2011, Parasite couldn’t crack a CDL roster in 2020’s Modern Warfare seaon and was relegated to competing for various Challengers teams during the season. Now, as the Royal Ravens deal with visa issues surrounding Trei ‘Zer0’ Morris and the recently signed Marcus ‘Afro’ Reid, the team has elected to bring on a player already located in North America to avoid ping issues. Should the deal become official, this would put Parasite directly into a starting lineup for the foreseeable future depending on visa developments. According to reports, Royal Ravens have elected to sign Parasite after previous negotiations with WestR’s Paul ‘PaulEhx’ Avila fell through. With the team unable to sign the Challengers standout or get the aforementioned Zer0 and Afro into the United States, they’re apparently turning to the formerly scouted Parasite. A 2013 world champion, Parasite nearly cracked London’s 2020 roster until the team opted to sign Rhys ‘Rated’ Price instead — who was subsequently benched and now plays Warzone for 100 Thieves. A year later, visas allow Parasite his chance to assume a starting role in the league. Contract details remain nebulous, but Davis reports that the team has begun scrimming immediately with the new signee. This means that the team has about two weeks to practice, allowing a chance to improve upon a difficult 2-3 loss to the Paris Legion during the CDL Kickoff Classic. London’s first official match will be on February 14, when the team faces the Seattle Surge during the Atlanta FaZe Home Series. It’s unclear why PaulEhx declined the Royal Ravens offer, but some have speculated it’s because they were only putting forward a short-term contract. If so, then Parasite’s deal may be similarly temporary. Nonetheless, if the deal is finalized, London’s opening lineup should be set. London Royal Ravens 2021 CDL Lineup (reported) Sean ‘Seany’ O’Connor (Starter) – Alex ‘Alexx’ Carpenter (Starter) – Thomas ‘Dylan’ Henderson (Starter) – Christopher ‘Parasite’ Duarte (Starter) – Trei ‘Zer0’ Morris (Substitute) – Marcus ‘Afro’ Reid (Substitute) – You can catch up on all of this offseason’s player signings and team changes with our CDL 2021 RosterMania hub.

Parasite questions competitive future after PLQ loss [UPDATED] – Dexerto
Parasite questions competitive future after PLQ loss [UPDATED] One of the all time great Call of Duty players may have played his last event after failing to qualify for the Black Ops 4 Pro League. The Pittsburgh Knights needed only one win to advance to bracket play or two wins to automatically qualify, but they dropped both matches to go home early. Christopher ‘Parasite’ Duarte vented his frustrations after being eliminated from contention in the Pro League Qualifier. “Work harder than the entire community just to be let down. I really thought this was it. This was the year,” said Parasite. Same shit every year. Work harder than the entire community just to be let down. I really thought this was it. This was the year. — Christopher Duarte (@Parasite) January 19, 2019 He then questioned if competing was still an option, saying, “I’m not interested in competition in the Amateur circuit so I’m going to evaluate my options as a competitor.” Parasite won the Black Ops 2 World Championship and was a top player in the game for years, but his career started to fade in Infinite Warfare. The constant heart breaks are not worth it. — Christopher Duarte (@Parasite) January 20, 2019 After failing once again in Black Ops 4, Parasite may be hanging up his controller in favor of coaching. “If any pro league teams are looking for a coach/ analyst feel free to contact me. I’ll be exploring my options outside of competing,” said Parasite. The Pro League will also offer a substitute system this season, allowing teams to expand their rosters, meaning Parasite may have more games to play if a team picks him up. But as of now, Parasite may have played his last competitive Call of Duty match. If any pro league teams are looking for a coach/ analyst feel free to contact me. I’ll be exploring my options outside of competing — Christopher Duarte (@Parasite) January 20, 2019 Update – Jan 20 After tweeting all of this out following his team’s elimination from the PLQ, Parasite has since reconsidered his position and his latest tweet leaves the door open for him possibly returning to competing this season. After having time to think about it I will be pursuing a serious coaching position in the pro league however, if I don’t find an opportunity I deem worth it. I’ll continue competing, prove my worth and continue trying to get in the league during roster change periods. — Christopher Duarte (@Parasite) January 20, 2019

Parasite lists 8 fixes Modern Warfare needs for competitive – Dexerto
Parasite lists 8 fixes Modern Warfare needs for competitive Christopher ‘Parasite’ Duarte has revealed an eight-item list of issues he feels need to be addressed before the Call of Duty League kicks-off in January, 2020. It’s almost one month since Modern Warfare landed on the shelves worldwide. Since then, Infinity Ward have had their work cut-out by fixing the plethora of bugs and in-game issues which have plagued players since launch. However, with the inaugural start to the Call of Duty League around the corner, there are still plenty of stumbling blocks for the developers to overcome. In a bid to make Infinity Ward’s job that much easier, Parasite has detailed exactly what needs to be fixed. After coming short in finding a home for this year’s CDL, Parasite has formed a stacked roster that will compete in the Challengers circuit throughout the competitive season. Nonetheless, the 2013 world champion’s passion for the franchise is undeniable. Given his long-term investment in the title, he posted an eight-point list of concerns on Twitter, for the attention of key figures over at Infinity Ward. Duarte prefaced his list of snags with: “Things we still need to fix after the last update (not including bugs) — even including a ninth ‘bonus’ snag to stress the importance of one particular issue. Things we still need to fix after the last update not including bugs 1. Overall footstep audio reduction 2. Spawns 3. Sky cam influencing spawns??? 4. Trophy sys radius, deploy time, and hit box/durability. 5. Lighting 7. Coldblooded counter smokes 8. Spawns 9. Bomb placements— Chris (@Parasite) November 23, 2019 The infamous issue surrounding footsteps sits high on Parasite’s list of priorities, after multiple patches have failed to meet the expectations of the CoD community and pros alike. Duarte’s list appears to point-out fundamental issues (i.e., spawns making the list twice, in an effort to emphasize the ongoing issue), right the way through to balancing issues (i.e., the Cold-Blooded perk being able to counter the newfound ability to see through smokes). Moreover, Parasite went to the liberty of tagging the likes of Ashton Williams and Joe Cecot in the post, hoping that they would pick up on his prioritized list. We got two months till the CDL opener I have faith. Please prioritize these changes @ashtonisVULCAN @JoeCecot @DavidMickner ?? — Christopher Duarte (@Parasite) November 23, 2019 This comes after Parasite called out Activision’s decision to provide all pro players with 15,000 pro points by default. The net result was Activision stripping the 15k Challenger Points from pros as of November 21. Parasite will be hoping is voice is heard yet again, given his position of influence. The CDL is set to kick-off in Minnesota on January 24 –26, where Parasite and co. will be hoping to open their Challengers campaign with a bang.

Parasite goes viral after being kicked for DM’ing teammate’s girlfriend – Dexerto
Parasite goes viral after being kicked for DM’ing teammate’s girlfriend MLGCoD World Champion Christopher ‘Parasite’ Duarte has responded to allegations of messaging teammate and fellow CoD pro Alex ‘Zaptius’ Bonilla’s girlfriend – in the middle of a series. Since winning the Black Ops II World Championship back in 2013, Parasite has struggled to find a consistent home in Call of Duty. An incredible 31 teams in 7 years has seen Parasite stuck on the fringes of professional CoD. He has not managed to find his way onto a Call of Duty League side, instead competing in CDC Challengers tournaments in the hopes of using his performances as a platform onto one of the 12 franchise teams. During the Chicago Huntsmen CDC $7,500 Open on April 26, it emerged that Duarte had been messaging the apparent girlfriend of his CDC teammate Alex ‘Zaptius’ Bonilla. As with the CDL itself, all CDC tournaments have been moved online. Parasite’s roster were drawn against Team Singularity in the Chicago CDC Grand Finals – a match they eventually lost – but the game was overshadowed by some personal allegations thrown by Zaptius. In a now deleted tweet, Zaptius accused Parasite of sending private messages to his girlfriend with the intention of “trying to get with her” in the middle of the CDC tournament. The clash led to Parasite being dropped from the roster, confirmed by the ex-World Champion with a number of tweets saying he is now a free agent. Watch: Why Nadeshot was Call of Duty’s most underrated champion Duarte also seemed to confirm the allegations, apologizing to both Zaptius and the wider CoD community for his actions. “Not proud of all that but it is what it is,” he said. “Mistakes were made. Wasn’t thinking straight at all. We can only move forward, that’s life.” Not proud of all that but it is what it is. Mistakes were made. Wasn’t thinking straight at all. We can only move forward that’s life. If you wanna kick me while I’m down it’s all good. I’ll pick myself back up. Sorry if you lost respect for me I get it. — Christopher Duarte (@Parasite) April 27, 2020 He also announced that he wants to leave the incident behind him, explaining that his new focus is finding a new team to compete in the CoD Challengers Events with. This will become team number 32 for the once-Fariko Impact star. “I deserve all the hate, I’m sorry guys,” he said, in another deleted tweet. “I really threw away friendships and a top 2 challenger team over something so stupid. I don’t know what else to say. just [want to] disappear.” Zaptius, for his part, focused on Call of Duty, tweeting his congratulations to Team Singularity for their win. The only indication of any personal drama is a tweet describing his life as a “movie”. Despite the controversy, and alleged screenshots of the messages Parasite sent to Zapitus’ girlfriend emerging, both men seem keen to put the incident behind them and focus on their Call of Duty going forward.

Parasite Gets the Ghost Gaming Logo Shaved Into His Head – Dexerto
Parasite Gets the Ghost Gaming Logo Shaved Into His Head Christopher ‘Parasite’ Duarte took the support of his organization to a new level by shaving the Ghost Gaming logo into his head. The Call of Duty pro player got a new haircut and posted the results to Twitter. The Ghost Gaming “G” is prominently shaved into the side of his head, but the tweet also explained why he’s trying out the new style. Haircut. Tested the waters with this design for Champs this year. Love my team and Ghost for what they stand for and how they push us to do and be better everyday. pic.twitter.com/hRpAaN0JLl — Christopher Duarte (@Parasite) July 12, 2018 Some were quick to point out that the logo will not be visible as his air will grow back before CoD Champs in August, but Parasite assured them this was only a test run. If the positive social media response is any indication, the Ghost logo will make another appearance on Parasite’s head for Champs. The Call of Duty World League Championship will run from August 17 to 19 in Columbus, Ohio. Parasite joined Ghost Gaming after being dropped by compLexity in April, a move that allowed coL to take over the CWL Pro League spot vacated by eRa Eternity. Ghost Gaming also had a chance to make the Pro League, but the newly formed team stumbled during the online qualifier. Despite the disappointment of missing out on the Pro League, Ghost Gaming as arguably been the best non-league team since picking up Parasite. Ghost finished in 6th at Seattle and made their way into pools for a t16 finish at CWL Anaheim.

Parasite explains why London Royal Ravens were “destined to fail” in CDL 2021 – Dexerto
Parasite explains why London Royal Ravens were “destined to fail” in CDL 2021 London Royal RavensWhile Chris ‘Parasite’ Duarte has been incredibly positive about his time in the CDL with London Royal Ravens, he has explained that he believed the side was “destined to fail” during Stage 1. With Trei ‘Zer0’ Morris unable to get out to the US to compete with his London team, Parasite was brought in as a temporary replacement. The team had a 0-6 start to the CDL, struggling every step of the way and becoming the indisputable worst team in the league — not a moniker anyone wants, and not one expected of this London side. While Parasite has expressed gratitude for his time with the team, it seems he feels there was always bound to be problems given what the team has gone through. In response to a Reddit post about his performance providing the third worst fantasy CDL score during Stage 1, the 2013 world champion opened up on the team’s struggles. He said: “Hardly any practice. Different views on the game and internal issues didn’t do us any favors. The Ravens have been going through a lot if you haven’t been able to tell. Statistics mean nothing when we can’t even get on the same page. Everyone is destined to fail.” Of course, with the numerous roster issues the London team has faced, they were due to face some hardships. Losing Zer0, and then Alex ‘Alexx’ Carpenter unable to play at the Major, is beyond what many teams had to deal with. That said, it doesn’t seem all doom and gloom when it comes to Parasite and the Ravens. They’ve brought on top Challengers player Paul ‘PaulEhx’ Avila, who could help turn the tide in their favor. Parasite has also been super complimentary to the London team going forward. In another Reddit comment, he said that Zed “helps a lot tremendously even if stats don’t show it.” In a similar tweet, he said that they “treated him like family” and he was “surprised how well everyone kept composed despite everything that continued to pile on.” Franchise and the players. I have nothing but respect for everyone over there for how they handled the first split. Because personally everyone else would have gone mental. Surprised how well everyone kept composes despite everything that continued to pile on. Love those guys. — Chris (@Parasite) March 16, 2021 Needless to say, Parasite left a good impression on the Royal Ravens and vice versa — but he believes the team was “destined to fail” from the start.

Parasite believes Call of Duty Challengers is already failing – Dexerto
Parasite believes Call of Duty Challengers is already failing Instagram: parasite818 / Katy Eyre-ESPAT MediaCall of Duty’s Challengers scene could be in trouble early into the 2020 cycle according to veteran competitor Christopher ‘Parasite’ Duarte. Call of Duty Challengers is a path-to-pro format that intends to promote the best up and coming talent around the world. However, rosters competing in the scene appear to be experiencing a great deal of hardship early into the year. While the premier competition in the Call of Duty scene has been enjoying international tournaments with major prize pools throughout the inaugural Call of Duty League season, its amateur counterpart could be in jeopardy just a few months in, according to Parasite. Having competed since the early days of Call of Duty, Parasite is an extremely accomplished player, even boasting a ring from the very first Call of Duty Championships in 2013 under Fariko Impact. Yet the veteran missed out on landing a spot in the newly established league. Dropping into the Challengers scene instead, he has outlined why just a few months in, the amateur scene already appears to be dwindling. Despite frequent online tournaments and each CDL homestand event running a simultaneous Challengers tournament with a minimum of $10,000 USD up for grabs, Parasite has outlined the difficulties of trying to compete in the scene. “The Challenger scene is chalked,” he put bluntly. “No org sees a reason to send teams to any home series.” Competing out of the United States, Parasite currently sits in 10th place on the North American ladder in regard to Pro Points points and his roster finished in the top 12 of 168 teams at the CDL launch event in Minnesota. Despite strong performances thus far throughout the Modern Warfare cycle, it appears as though North American organizations are hesitant to back his team and support them when traveling to various events throughout the year. Read More: Top 6 moments from CDL London – With eight of the remaining 11 CDL events taking place in North American locales, the travel for his team wouldn’t be quite as expensive when compared to international rosters, yet local esports brands refuse to dip their toes in the scene for a number of reasons, according to Parasite. “Besides the majors left, it’s a struggle getting an org to invest let alone send any team to these tournaments.” When citing the reasons as to why he feels organizations won’t enter the scene, he outlines how the lack of a “stream, [and] low prize pools” makes it “literally pointless.” A difficult sell to local esports brands, he argues that the lack of promotion through an official broadcast, and minimal prizing is why the scene might already be ‘chalked.’ While the barrier to entry might be high, certain teams have been reaping the rewards of the Challengers scene lately and making a name for themselves. You can keep up to date with all the latest Challengers results with our rundown of CDL London’s side-event.

Parasite Breaks Down Everything That’s Wrong with Amateur CoD Players – Dexerto
Parasite Breaks Down Everything That’s Wrong with Amateur CoD Players Ghost Gaming player and 2013 world champion Chris “Parasite” Duarte took to social media to explain what he believes is wrong with the amateur Call of Duty community. Due to the season of open events and the Gamebattles Pro Point system, Call of Duty esports has a busy amateur scene, both in the US and in Europe. While some players do make the jump from amateur to professional, there is a feeling amongst some that the same players have been competing at the top level for years. Part of the blame has been put on the pro players themselves for not giving chances to up and coming players, but Parasite thinks the attitude of some amateurs is detrimental to their progression. He explains that constant ‘roasting’ of each other on social media, and failing to practice while focusing on their mistakes is part of the problem. Parasite also says that while amateur players are able to play a certain way at home online, they are unable to adapt when it comes to LAN performances. Just seen a whole bunch of AMs roasting each other on the TL and the one thing they all have in common is that they don’t rotate and all rechallenge when weak. Ya hate to see it. — Christopher Duarte (@Parasite) July 4, 2018 AMs sprint shoot online/camera every fight then when they go to LAN and get preaimed by a BAR lose full and don’t know how to act. — Christopher Duarte (@Parasite) July 4, 2018 Lastly AMs think putting in a ton of hours is gonna make you magically better when most fail to realize what they need to improve on. They practice and fall into the same bad habits then when event time comes they don’t know how to adapt. https://t.co/E3QsJF0rGg — Christopher Duarte (@Parasite) July 4, 2018 Although Parasite has himself narrowly missed out on the Pro League this 2018 season, he has been a staple in the professional scene for years. And although some amateur players online performances may gain them some recognition, what really counts is being able to put in those same performances when out of their comfort zone in an open event environment.

Parasite blames fellow pros for lack of CoD offers in frustrated “rant” – Dexerto
Parasite blames fellow pros for lack of CoD offers in frustrated “rant” MLGCall of Duty veteran Chris ‘Parasite‘ Duarte has offered his own explanation for why he’s faced a lack of opportunities to compete at the highest level over the past few years, going into franchising. With Call of Duty esports transitioning to a franchised league starting next season, a lot of players are scurrying around to secure a spot for themselves in one of the 12 confirmed participating organizations. While the best players in the world have very likely been barraged with lucrative offers from many teams, there are still some who haven’t seen nearly as many takers. One such player is Parasite, a longtime competitor who’s been around the scene for nearly a decade, but who many believe is on the down-slope of his career at this point. Read More: shroud mindblown my Scump and Priestahh – The veteran expressed his frustrations about that in a mini-rant on Twitter on September 18, which he later ended up deleting, partially putting the blame on those who can’t let go of the mistakes he’s made in the past. “It’s such a shame people can’t get over mistakes I’ve made when I was in my later teens and early 20s, over five years ago,” he tweeted. “People can’t accept that I have changed for the better. I’ve also performed consistently for years and adapted to every single situation and title I’ve ever played plus ethic I’d bring to a roster.” He then went on to slight essentially all of the rosters he’s played on since leaving FaZe Red in the early parts of 2015. “Haven’t had a team full of capable players since FaZe Red back in 2015, when I got third at Champs and performed second or third best on my team, if you’re considering K/D and objective statistics. To then being dropped and spiraling bad team to team.” He wrapped up the rant with a third tweet, which may have been the most telling of them all, revealing his lack of offers moving forward. “No one had contacted me besides the offer that fell through,” he said. “It’s been very had and stressful to see a decade of work go to waste because you can’t jar the minds of your peers.” While there is no reason to doubt that he has become a better teammate, there is no denying that he hasn’t come close to tasting success on the main stage over the past several years. Read More: Mr X on hilarious Crimsix blooper – Since finishing third at CoD Champs 2015 with FaZe Red, he has only one top-five placement all the way through to last month’s CWL Championship – a third-place finish at the MLG Pro League 2015 Season 3 Playoffs with Epsilon Esports. Whether or not that has had any bearing on his lack of opportunities remains unknown, and only time will tell if the longtime pro will find a seat at the highest table moving forward. Parasite announces stacked Challengers roster for Call of Duty League – Dexerto
Parasite announces stacked Challengers roster for Call of Duty League Longtime Call of Duty pro player Christopher ‘Parasite’ Duarte has revealed the four other players he will be teaming with for the Challengers portion of the 2020 Call of Duty League season. The 2020 Call of Duty competitive season will be the esport’s first since transitioning to franchise-based model, and it will be split into two distinct areas – the 12 participating organizations that will compete in the professional World Tour, and the Challengers division, made up of amateur players and teams competing online and at open events. Following the flurry of roster moves and player signings of this offseason’s RosterMania, Parasite and several other veteran pro players were not picked up by any of the pro teams, meaning that they will have to play in the Challengers circuit if they want to compete in CoD esports this season. Thus, the 2013 World Champion has decided to band together with several of those big names and form a Challengers team, the roster of which was officially revealed on November 19. PARASITE’S 2020 CHALLENGERS TEAM ROSTER: Christopher ‘Parasite’ Duarte – Michael ‘SpaceLy’ Schmale – Maurice ‘Fero’ Henriquez – Christopher ‘ProFeeZy’ Astudillo – Kristoff ‘Spart’ [last name unknown] – Myself, @SpaceLy @f3rocitys @ProFeeZy @itsSpart are looking for an organization to represent in this years CDL Challenger portion of competition. Every single player on this team has the talent to be in the CDL and will be this year or the next. Contact spacelybusiness@gmail.com — Chris (@Parasite) November 20, 2019 Right away, this will be considered as one of the stronger teams heading into the 2020 Challengers season, and not just on paper. They’ve already proved that they mean business, having won the previous 2000 Series Tournament while only dropping two maps the entire way. Prior to that, they placed fourth in the first 2000 Series event, and that was before they had picked up ProFeeZy, so there’s definitely a lot of promise in this squad. A squad with lots of experience As for the players themselves, four of them have experience playing in the pro ranks of Call of Duty esports. Parasite, of course, comes in as the most experienced of the lot, having won the 2013 World Championship as part of his nine major tournament victories. However, he’s bounced around quite a lot since leaving that Impact team in 2013, playing for well over a dozen different teams and never sticking around for longer than a year. Much like Parasite, SpaceLy has also done a lot of moving around over the past few years. His Black Ops 4 season was full of ups and downs, as he started off with Gen.G but was dropped when they picked up Envoy midseason. He eventually found himself back on the team for a brief spell during June before he was demoted again, and had to play CWL Champs with Mazer Gaming. While not yet a veteran himself, Fero has featured for some big-name teams throughout his two-year career, playing for the likes of Team Kaliber, 100 Thieves, and Team Envy. However, he did not find much success with either of the latter two, but he will have a chance to prove his worth as a Challengers player in 2020. As for ProFeeZy, he finally reached the pro ranks in the Black Ops 4 season, featuring first for Excelerate Gaming then moving to Elevate to round off the season. Prior to that, however, he also did his rounds in the amateur level, competing for over a dozen teams. Rounding off the roster is Spart, easily the most unknown player in this squad. Having just turned 18 this year, his experience competing is limited to mostly just Black Ops 4. However, he has teamed with some impressive names for several of those tournaments, including Fero, Dallas Empire’s Shotzzy, Minnesota RØKKR sub TTinny, and the veteran Mochila. Where does this team currently rank? As of now, due to their top performances at the first two 2000 Series Tournaments of the season, the players hava a combined 15,130 Challengers Points, putting them high atop the North American list for non-pro teams. If they continue playing at this level, especially at open bracket LAN events that will be hosted periodically throughout the season, it would not be a huge surprise for one or more of these players to be picked up by CDL teams looking for subs.

Parasite and co. announce org ahead of $250,000 CWL Vegas event – Dexerto
Parasite and co. announce org ahead of $250,000 CWL Vegas event With just a week left to go until CWL Vegas, Christopher ‘Parasite’ Duarte has finally revealed what organization his team would be representing for the event. The Pittsburgh Knights, one of the newer organizations in the esports scene, have taken the dive into Call of Duty with the signing of Parasite’s team for the upcoming season. The roster consists of Parasite, Dylan ‘Theory’ McGee, Casey ‘Pandur’ Romano, Adam ‘GodRx’ Brown, and Andres ‘Lacefield’ Lacefield. The news was first broken by the organization with a Tweet on November 30 confirming the big signing. Guess who’s playing for a $250,000 prize pool at #CWLVegas? Pittsburgh is. – @DMTheory – @CaseyPandur – @Parasite – @AdamGodRx – @Lacefield:newspaper: READ: https://t.co/ZEH9NfS6MW  #KnightLife pic.twitter.com/WTPIz1xZV5— Pittsburgh Knights (@KnightsGG) November 30, 2018 Right after it became official, Parasite took to Twitter himself to say that he and the team are “excited for a future together and look forward to representing [the Knights] this season.” He even teased bigger announcements to come in the near future, perhaps hinting at more sponsorships in the works. Happy to announce the squad and I have signed with the Pittsburgh @KnightsGG. We are excited for a future together and look forward to representing them this season! Stay tuned because we have even bigger announcements coming soon  #KnightLife — Christopher Duarte (@Parasite) November 30, 2018 While the team is no doubt happy to finally get signed ahead of the official start to the season, things haven’t exactly been smooth up to this point. The roster used to contain John ‘Xotic’ Bruno, but he left the team on November 14 to join Evil Geniuses, prompting Parasite to call Xotic “scum” and “worthless” in a series of scathing tweets that soon went viral. Parsite is a veteran of the Call of Duty scene, having been competing since 2011. That move also cost Parasite’s team a pool play spot, as Xotic’s pro points moved Evil Geniuses into the final pool play position for CWL Vegas. As such, Knights will now compete in the Play-In Tournament taking place on December 6 for a shot at one of four more Pool Play spots up for grabs. Pandur slams teammates after CWL Pro League Qualifier failure – Dexerto
Pandur slams teammates after CWL Pro League Qualifier failure Pittsburgh Knights player Casey ‘Pandur’ Romano has criticised his teammate’s preparation and attitude towards the Call of Duty Pro League Qualifier in the wake of their elimination. The squad secured their spot in the Pro League Qualifier after an impressive 13-16 placing at the first event of the season – CWL Las Vegas – following a run through the play-in bracket. However, just after the turn of the new year, they made two changes. Dylan ‘Theory’ McGee and Andres ‘Lacefield’ Lacefield were replaced by Richard ‘Ricky’ Stacy and Renato ‘Saints’ Forza after the pair was spotted practicing with the team only a few days prior. The changes didn’t work, however, as the team bombed out of the Pro League Qualifier in 21-24 place. Yet, ‘Pandur’ stated that the team set themselves up for failure before the event. He tweeted: “We got what we deserved our prep was horrible there was little effort and a lot of unnecessary complaining not everyone participated in vod prior to the event there was little respect shown to half the teams in our pool just trash talk and we had 3 chances to get 2nd and blew it.” His passionate post didn’t end there as he opened up on the team’s failings to communicate properly and play the Control better. I appreciate everyone saying we should be in bracket but at the end of the day people came to play and we had no teamwork horrible comms and we were the worst control team in the world and played one set of snd the day before we left and the team we played didn’t try. We did this — Casey Romano (@CaseyPandur) January 20, 2019 He added: “I appreciate everyone saying we should be in bracket but at the end of the day people came to play and we had no teamwork horrible comms and we were the worst control team in the world and played one set of snd the day before we left and the team we played didn’t try. Pamaj reveals expensive custom Black Ops 2 chain with 90+ diamonds & clan tag – Dexerto
Pamaj reveals expensive custom Black Ops 2 chain with 90+ diamonds & clan tag Pamaj / TreyarchLongtime FaZe Clan content creator Austin ‘Pamaj’ Pamajewon showed off a brand new chain that pays tribute to his roots in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. The legacy of FaZe Clan has been exponentially growing as their influence spans across emerging platforms and new ways to engage with fans. But their media empire had humble beginnings with kids doing trickshot videos and various other CoD montages. Slowly their numbers of followers, as well as subscribers over the years, have grown, leading to FaZe’s massive global community. That makes Pamaj’s new ice all the more impressive since it directly calls back to his early years. The star YouTube’s majestic new chain features over 90 glistening diamonds organized in the shape of the iconic Ballista sniper rifle from Black Ops 2. Pamaj told Dexerto that this piece was made to order for around $4,500, a hefty but expected price for such a delicate piece of jewelry. my new chain cuz BO2 changed my life forever 90+ diamonds & the clantag I rocked the most pic.twitter.com/6FUQ503Oj2 — OpTic Pamaj (@Pamaj) August 13, 2020 “My new chain because BO2 changed my life forever,” he tweeted. “90+ diamonds & the clan tag I rocked the most.” The clan tag he’s referencing is the word LOVE written in brackets on the bottom face of the jewel gun, one that he used as his primary insignia when dominating BO2 multiplayer for years. Fellow CoD trick shot and YouTube star James Spratt immediately recognized the piece of jewelry from a staple in Pamaj’s video library: “Sheeesh man, what a beauty. I knew I remembered the 90+ from somewhere.. you smart smart.” That’s right, the fact that there are 90-plus diamonds on the sniper pendant also holds significance – it’s a direct reference to one of his most popular and influential videos, in which he got over 90 kills using the Ballista without any lethal killstreaks. Pamaj starting his YouTube channel in October 2010 and has been on the rise ever since getting quite a bit of traction, even in his early days. He joined OpTic Gaming in 2013 and was a part of the legendary team behind the Greenwall’s reputation for some of the best Call of Duty content around at the time. He spent nearly five years with the organization before leaving and rejoining FaZe in 2018. Today, the Canadian can usually be found streaming and making YouTube videos with Warzone, as his content focus has shifted from multiplayer to the popular battle royale.

Pamaj slams Black Ops 4 and explains why he’s done with Call of Duty – Dexerto
Pamaj slams Black Ops 4 and explains why he’s done with Call of Duty Twitter/Pamaj/ActivisionFaZe Clan YouTuber Austin ‘Pamaj’ Pamajewon looks set to move away from Call of Duty, at least temporarily, due to a perceived lack of new content in Black Ops 4 – but just how does it compare to previous CoD titles? Why is FaZe Pamaj moving away from Call of Duty? Pamaj has been one of the biggest names in the Call of Duty sniping community for many years, known for his sniping montages and incredible ‘quick-scoping’ talents. As a result of this talent, and his association with OpTic and FaZe, he has amassed over 3 million subscribers on YouTube. In spite of the criticism Call of Duty has received over the past few installments, Pamaj has always stuck by the series and continued to upload gameplay to his YouTube channel. Now, though, Pamaj believes CoD is “so boring” and that it’s “time to vlog.” He goes on to say that his fans know how long he has “rocked” with CoD for, but believes the series is not worth playing due to a number of “trash updates” that don’t “even contribute to anything.” In a second tweet, Pamaj goes on to explain that when other players moved away from CoD he continued to play it as he “genuinely enjoyed” it, but “now they can’t even give us content”. Lmao COD is so boring. Trash updates that don’t even contribute to anything. Picking up this camera. It’s time to vlog. — FaZe Pamaj (@Pamaj) April 18, 2019 Y’all know me. How long I’ve rocked with COD even when everyone branched off and did their own thing. That wasn’t me just not wanting to branch out. I was genuinely enjoying it. Now they can’t even give us content. I ain’t gonna sit around and wait for them to get it right. :victory:️ — FaZe Pamaj (@Pamaj) April 18, 2019 How much content has Black Ops 4 provided compared to other CoD games? Black Ops 4 was released on October 12, 2018 and so, at the time of writing, is just over 6 months into its life cycle. In that time, game developers Treyarch have added 5 new guns into the game’s multiplayer modes, and 2 new melee weapons. These are the Swat RFT (AR), Daemon 3XB (SMG), SwitchBlade X9 (SMG), Kap-45 (Machine Pistol) and the Rampage (Shotgun). WWII In comparison, last year’s CoD game, WWII, had 13 guns and 4 melee weapons added by the same point in the game’s life cycle. These were: Winter Siege Event – Gewehr 43 (AR), Sten (SMG), GPMG (LMG), Ice Pick (Melee), Trench Knife (Melee) – The Resistance Event – Volkssturmgewehr (AR), Orso (SMG), 9mm SAP (Pistol), Combat Knife (Melee) – Shamrock & Awe Event – M-38 (SMG), MG 81 (LMG) – Blitzkrieg Event – Type 5 (AR), ITRA Burst (AR), M2 Carbine (AR), Type 38 (SR), Sterling (SMG), Baseball Bat (Melee) – There is a similar story when looking at multiplayer maps. By mid-April of 2018, WWII had seen 10 new maps added. These were: The Resistance Map Pack – Anthropoid (MP), Occupation (MP), Valkyrie (MP), Operation Intercept (War Mode), The Darkest Shore (Zombies) – The War Machine Map Pack – Dunkirk (MP), Egypt (MP), V2 (MP), Operation Husky (War Mode), The Shadowed Throne (Zombies) – Black Ops 4 In contrast, Black Ops 4, operating under the new ‘Black Ops Pass’ method of dispensing DLC content, has only seen 7, not including re-skins of original maps (e.g. Firing Range Night, Arsenal Sandstorm). These are: Operation Absolute Zero – Elevation (MP), Madagascar (MP), Dead of the Night (Zombies) – Operation Grand Heist – Casino (MP), Lockup (MP), Alcatraz (Blackout), Ancient Evil (Zombies) – As a result, it does appear that Pamaj’s complaints have some weight behind them, as Black Ops 4 has seen less than half the amount of new guns added, as well as 3 less brand new maps.

Pamaj Has an Idea of How the Storm Should Work for Black Ops 4’s Blackout – Dexerto
Pamaj Has an Idea of How the Storm Should Work for Black Ops 4’s Blackout Austin ‘Pamaj’ Pamajewon has an idea to give the ‘storm’ effect in Blackout mode a unique Black Ops flair. The OpTic sniper would like to see zombies take a starring role in the storm. In order to force the action in Battle Royale games, there is usually a mechanic where the map gets smaller over time. PUBG features an electrical storm that will damage players caught in it, while Fortnite also has a ‘storm’ to damage players. Players must get closer and closer together with storm mechanics, solving the issue of a playing area that is significantly larger than regular shooters. For Call of Duty’s upcoming battle royale mode Blackout, there is a possibility for an all new mechanic featuring zombies. Treyarch may have issues figuring out how to get close to 100 players and thousands of zombies on a map without performance suffering, but Pamaj is certainly on to something. The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta is multiplayer only for August, leaving out the highly anticipated Blackout. Treyarch has not confirmed many details about the mode, leaving many to speculate how a Call of Duty battle royale would work. Read More: Shroud Goes on a Tomahawk Rampage in Black Ops 4 – “I think they made the axe a little too strong” – One detail that is confirmed is the presence of bullet drop for Blackout; the ballistics are also making their way to the multiplayer part of Black Ops 4. Players will not have to speculate much longer as Blackout will get its own beta in September.

Pamaj announces departure from OpTic Gaming – Dexerto
Pamaj announces departure from OpTic Gaming Long-time Call of Duty content creator Austin ‘Pamaj’ Pamajewon announced Wednesday that he was leaving OpTic Gaming. In a 17-minute video uploaded to his official YouTube channel, Pamaj detailed the series of events that led him to leave the organization that he had called home for the last three years. Many of his issues ended up not having to do with OpTic Gaming specifically, but rather Infinite Esports, OpTic’s parent company, that came in and changed things. According to Pamaj, everything started to change after he left the Scuf House back in 2016. “There were a lot of promises, not from anyone from the SCUF house, but from corporate, that just didn’t happen,” Pamaj recalls. As time went on after leaving the house, Pamaj noticed even more changes happening within the organization. While there was plenty of expansion on the esports side of things, Pamaj said that “on the content creation side, there wasn’t too much support.” Read More: OpTic parent company Infinite Esports layoff a host of staff including president Chris Chaney – “There wasn’t a lot of communication and there was a lot of sketchy things that I felt like were happening, and it wasn’t cool,” Pamaj said of the decisions from ‘corporate.’ Pamaj grew concerned over time that many of these decisions weren’t happening for the better of the organization as a whole. “It was very upsetting to just sit here and watch what we’d built over a certain amount of time just not getting the love and respect that it should have gotten. Just watching it getting taken away from us and torn down a bit. That hurt. It’s like, what did we do this for?” This led him to start questioning his place with OpTic saying “It felt like everyone in OpTic wanted their own thing. The brotherhood, as soon as we moved, just disappeared.” Pamaj maintains that he has no hard feelings with anyone on OpTic or from the SCUF House and he feels at peace with his decision. Pamaj’s exit, while not directly connected to, seems to coincidentally-timed with sweeping changes and a mass exodus of staff from Infinite Esports. Following reports of these changes within the organization, OpTic Gaming CEO and Owner Hector ‘H3CZ’ has, according to OpTic content creator Hitch, been considering returning to a more active role with the OpTic organization. With the layoffs at infinite and now Pamaj leaving the organization after three years, we could see a return from H3CZ sooner rather than later. Full disclosure: OpTic CEO Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez is a minority shareholder in Dexerto Ltd

Painful streak of Modern Warfare fails is something we can all relate to – Dexerto
Painful streak of Modern Warfare fails is something we can all relate to Infinity WardIt’s not uncommon for a Call of Duty player’s high-IQ strat to end in disaster, making this string of Modern Warfare fails resonate with everyone who’s had an epic play blow up in their face. From pro players competing for cash to casual weekend warriors, the intense firefights in Modern Warfare can easily lead to a mishandled grenade toss or a dilemma with even more damning consequences. Call of Duty players typically shy away from their most embarrassing moments in a match, but Reddit user ‘justjoshinya89’ relished in their shortcomings by highlighting a string of unfortunate occurrences that happened to them. Their montage of misery all came in one life on St. Petrograd and started when they were holding a corner just as a door right in front of the player mysteriously opened. Without knowing what could possibly be on the other side of the wall, the player had the presence of mind to use their equipment in order to clear out the room from possible attackers. But a mistimed jiggle throw with a Semtex grenade made justjoshinya89 regret their decisions and immediately abandon the spot they were covering. Not one to be deterred, the player instead opted to use a Flashbang to disorientate anyone lurking inside of the room. It was a really smart adaptation from their first attempt, if only they had thrown it any better. That wasn’t to be either, since the Flashbang hit the corner of the building and ricocheted right back to them – once again, forcing the player to give up their position. For what would be their final attempt at clearing the inside of the building, justjoshinya89 once again relied on a Semtex. Instead of delivering the equipment into the room, however, their third attempt failed again and hit the narrow lamp post obstructing their view. It truly was a once-in-a-lifetime throw. But it seems like the player made a bit too much noise in his gameplay fails, since a different opponent came from his flank to quickly eliminate them. The Modern Warfare subreddit had a laugh at the clip, but they were laughing with the Redditor rather than at them. “Thanks for the laugh. I’d be a liar if I said I hadn’t done this many, many times,” one user wrote. “Join the crowd. I thought this was my game play,” another person said. The clip perfectly shows how a good idea can quickly turn against you in Modern Warfare, which is bound to happen to a player at one time or another.

Pacman’s 100 Thieves prediction blows NAMELESS’ mind ahead of CWL Pro League – Dexerto
Pacman’s 100 Thieves prediction blows NAMELESS’ mind ahead of CWL Pro League Activision / CWLIt’s fair to say that the 100 Thieves Call of Duty team has performed below expectations since the start of the Black Ops 4 season, so Jonathan ‘Pacman’ Tucker’s CWL Pro League prediction came as quite the surprise. Despite boasting a star-studded roster filled with former champions, 100 Thieves failed to impress at CWL Las Vegas before scraping through the last chance qualifier and immediately deciding that a team change was in order. FaZe Clan’s Preston ‘Priestahh’ Greiner has been brought in on loan for the duration of the CWL Pro League in place of Maurice ‘Fero’ Henriquez, and Pacman seems to believe that things are about to turn around for Austin ‘SlasheR’ Liddicoat and company. “I’m going with 100 Thieves,” the CWL analyst stated when asked who would win the league. “They have a whole six months to focus on what’s needed and who always improves his team when it comes time? SlasheR. “In Infinite Warfare SlasheR’s team was placing top 24. Worse than they are now. He stuck with the team, they went from top 24 to second at champs. I’m telling you that he has a way of improving his team over time.” Pacman, a former professional player turned analyst, was taking part in the CWL’s popular ‘Trading Shots’ talk show where members of the broadcast team go to war over competitive CoD topics, but his CWL Pro League Season 1 prediction blew Anthony ‘NAMELESS’ Wheeler’s mind. “How can you possibly say 100 Thieves after what we’ve seen?” he exclaimed. “They were getting 50 point clubbed at CWL Las Vegas! They were getting beat by teams of players that they’ve never even watch play. “They were getting destroyed by them at the Pro League qualifier, they barely qualified top two! They’re lucky that they’re in the position they are right now. They pick up a player that couldn’t even qualify on his own team and you expect them to win the Pro League season when we have teams like Splyce, we have teams like OpTic! “We have teams like eUnited and Luminosity Gaming for god’s sake. You think they’re going to be able to just consistently beat them over the course of a season and then win playoffs? I think 100 Thieves is more of a team that’s going to maybe make a play for CoD champs later in the year.” Pacman fired back by pointing out that nobody would have predicted Evil Geniuses’ Call of Duty World Championship win in 2018 and that 100 Thieves has time to improve before the season concludes. However, a LOT of improvements will need to be made, and a fair few stars will need to align, in order for Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag’s organization to turn things around and become a championship calibre Black Ops 4 team.

Pacman: Prestinni will lead Surge to Finals | CDL Reverse Sweep Preview – Dexerto
Pacman: Prestinni will lead Surge to Finals | CDL Reverse Sweep Preview DexertoAs the Call of Duty League moves toward the Stage 2 Major, the Reverse Sweep gang is here to preview a pivotal LA Guerrillas Home Series week. Here’s how Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt, Jonathan ‘Pacman’ Tucker & Katie Bedford expect the week to shake out. After going through a Stage 2, Week 2 review, the Reverse Sweep crew dives into the upcoming week and its biggest storylines. From the fall of OpTic Gaming to the rise of the Seattle Surge and Minnesota ROKKR, the narratives are juicy and fans are sure to have their thirsts quenched. But, it all has to start with a highlight on the biggest storyline of the Stage — how OpTic fell to 0-2 and near the bottom of Group B. Enable, Pacman and Bedford had some choice words for the seemingly crumbling Green Wall. OpTic in Group B Losers? With Bedford noting that OpTic will start in the Major’s Losers Bracket should they lose one of their matches this week, Enable has a simple response: “That’s scary.” Joining in, Pacman confirmed that this is a pivotal chance for OpTic. To stave off the Losers Bracket, Chicago needs to beat the upsurging Seattle Surge and 2020 CDL Champions Dallas Empire. Pacman thinks it’s possible, but hard to imagine since they just played “as bad a week as you can possibly have” in Stage 2, Week 2. The new contenders: Minnesota & Seattle “Obviously we’ve been praising Minnesota for the week that they had, and Seattle as well, but we still don’t know where they stand.” As Enable explains, the LA Guerrillas Home Series is the chance to put Minnesota and Seattle’s rises to the test. Seattle faces OpTic and then the two new, hopeful contenders face each other, offering a unique opportunity to see just how dangerous these teams can be. Spicy takes: time to fix the LA teams With Bedford asking which CDL teams need to make changes, Enable and Pacman agreed on the LA Guerrillas and Thieves. As to why, Enable has a simple explanation: “LA teams need to be performing, they have to.” Read more: Top 10 Plays | CDL Stage 2 Week 2 – Pacman takes it a step further, claiming that the “Guerrillas are already becoming synonymous with trash” and that whatever the Thieves are doing, “it’s not working.” The gang agrees that the LA teams need to make changes, but jump into a wide variety of routes that could be taken. The ones to watch: Prestinni and Dashy “If Prestinni’s playing well … Seattle is going to be in Winners Finals.” Noting how important Preston ‘Prestinni’ Sanderson has been to Seattle’s performance, Pacman dubs him the man behind their road to the Winners Finals. Rocking a ridiculous K/D this stage and enjoying his brother’s internet, the Surge player is easily a top player to watch. As for Enable, he contends that the most interesting player to keep an eye on is Brandon ‘Dashy’ Otell. The young star had a horrible week as OpTic went 0-2, but Enable thinks that “he’s going to grind his ass off and he’s not gonna let it happen again.” Boldest predictions: Seattle, Minnesota and Ultra in Winners To wrap things up, Bedford asks Enable and Pacman for their boldest predictions. Unsurprisingly, both agree that the Surge and ROKKR have the potential to pull out of the week with strong-enough records to make the Winners Bracket. Read more: Enable: Dashy is playing horrible! – Switching things up, though, Pacman delivers an interesting take — that Toronto can go 2-0 and make the Winners Bracket. Citing their matchups against the London Royal Ravens and a New York Subliners team that Enable reports is scrimming with rookie Paco ‘HyDra’ Rusiewiez, Pacman argues Toronto could surprise people during the Guerrillas Home Series. But, he explains it better than we could, so you can check out the full preview show! For all Reverse Sweep CDL news, head over to our dedicated page.

Pacman: iLLeY needs to step up for Dallas Empire to win another CDL championship – Dexerto
Pacman: iLLeY needs to step up for Dallas Empire to win another CDL championship YouTube: Dexerto Call of Duty/ActivisionDuring Dexerto’s Reverse Sweep CDL show, Jonathan ‘Pacman’ Tucker explained to co-hosts Katie Bedford and Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt exactly what Dallas needs to keep them competing at the very top. While discussing their Least Valuable Players from Stage 2 Week 3’s LA Guerrillas Home Series, Pacman pinpointed one star in particular: Indervir ‘iLLeY’ Dhaliwal. One of the key components in Dallas’ historic 2020 CDL Championship win, iLLeY has long been considered an unprecedented talent in the scene, despite only going pro last year. While some teams had abysmal weeks, with the likes of LA Thieves looking completely lost against their CDL opponents, Pacman looked to the top end to make his LVP pick on Reverse Sweep. After Dallas’ 3-2 loss to OpTic Chicago, though, their Search and Destroy woes were exposed — and Pacman thinks iLLeY needs to be the one to turn this around. Read More: Enable: Scump Doesn’t NEED TO Compete! – “He’s supposed to be the ‘guru’,” Pacman said of the young gun. “He’s supposed to be the mastermind. We’re talking about a championship team — they’re not going to be a championship team if they can’t beat other top teams in Search and Destroy.” Pac went on to explain that iLLeY is meant to be the “S&D overlord” that can “mastermind” those all-important Search maps — but clearly, that just isn’t happening how it should. Ahead of the Stage 2 Major, Dallas Empire are 10-13 in Search and Destroy, with many of those wins coming in the fifth and final map of each series. Obviously, their Search game needs work, and iLLeY will be the key to making Dallas match their 2020 results in the mode. Elsewhere, Enable called out Sam ‘Octane’ Larew as his LVP. He said that when Seattle needed the result most, Octane didn’t have the performance he should have, costing Surge a spot in the winner’s bracket of the Stage 2 Major.

Pacman explains why Zaptius wasn’t right to replace Dylan on London Royal Ravens – Dexerto
Pacman explains why Zaptius wasn’t right to replace Dylan on London Royal Ravens Activision/YouTube: Dexerto Call of DutyWhile assessing some of the rumored and confirmed changes in the Call of Duty League, Reverse Sweep’s Jonathan ‘Pacman’ Tucker explained to Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt and Katie Bedford why he thinks Alex ‘Zaptius’ Bonilla was the wrong choice for London Royal Ravens. London’s roster turmoil this season has been well-documented. Visa issues, family emergencies, and performance drops have led them to have the most-changed roster in the CDL. Their most recent change to the starting roster was bringing in Zaptius for an underwhelming Thomas ‘Dylan’ Henderson, who thus far failed to live up to his Black Ops 4 hype. While Zap does have the traits that could improve London’s shortcomings, the Reverse Sweep crew isn’t convinced. The West Coast connection just got stronger. We are excited to announce that @Zaptius will be joining us for #Stage III, alongside @SeanyCod, @PaulEhx and @ZachDenyer. #LRR pic.twitter.com/8FOTmmvIno — Carolina Royal Ravens (@RoyalRavens) April 19, 2021 London needed an out-and-out SMG slayer that would fly in and put pressure on the objective and enemy players. Typically, Dylan would’ve been expected to do this, but it just wasn’t happening. “The issue with LAG was that they don’t have enough actual top-end potential with their players,” Pacman explained on Reverse Sweep. “So why, if you’re London Royal Ravens, do you make the same mistake and drop one of the players that actually has that explosive potential to pick up someone who, frankly, doesn’t?” Pac adds that he “just doesn’t like the direction they went in,” which could prove to be a fair criticism over time if Zap doesn’t become that explosive player that London needs. Timestamp 4:47 London actually had a pretty successful week at the Paris Home Series, beating New York Subliners and taking Atlanta FaZe all the way to a map 5. There’s clearly potential on the team, especially to cause some big upsets like that, but they need to start notching more wins under their belt and picking up those all-important CDL points for it to really matter.

Pacman explains why he’s “scared” for OpTic Chicago’s CDL hopes – Dexerto
Pacman explains why he’s “scared” for OpTic Chicago’s CDL hopes YouTube: Dexerto Call of Duty/Activision OpTic Chicago have had a whirlwind season in the Call of Duty League, seen as a very top side at the start of the year to now being absolutely bodied by Atlanta FaZe. Despite glimmers of hope, it’s still a scary time for OpTic, says Jonathan ‘Pacman’ Tucker. The Stage 3 Major was a shining beacon of light in OpTic’s rough season. They started the year strong and, after weeks of being seen as a mediocre, mid-table side, earned a top 4 spot at the Major. It was the best performance the Green Wall had seen for some time. Into Stage 4 though and OpTic came crashing back down to earth, completely dismantled by Atlanta FaZe, proving there’s still some work to be done before they reach the upper echelon. On Reverse Sweep, Pacman, Katie Bedford and Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt discussed the OpTic conundrum, and Pacman isn’t holding out too much hope for them. While talking about what went wrong for the team, Pac explained that he’s “scared” for the team. “When you see teams that don’t have the level of gunskill and teamwork that OpTic have, they can run you over,” he said. “But then they run into FaZe, it’s like running into a brick wall. You have nothing to fall back on, their fundamentals aren’t good enough to overcome that level of skill and teamwork. “That’s what scares me about OpTic,” he continued. “Even though they got 4th, they looked good, but they still never made us feel like they’re a championship team…There’s a giant hill that they have to get over to beat Toronto, New York, Atlanta on a consistent basis.” Enable went on to explain that role-for-role, FaZe beats OpTic in every way, adding that they seem to be somewhat of a bogey team for the Chicagoans. FaZe are undoubtedly the best team in the game, having spent 99% of the season atop to Reverse Sweep power rankings, but OpTic’s inability to even look competitive against them makes for scary viewing for the Green Wall. Champs is growing ever-closer, and the return of LAN is leaving OpTic and their fans hopeful. But if they want to really be a winning team, the Reverse Sweep crew say they’ll have to get over this hump.

Pacman & Enable break down how LA Thieves can overcome current CDL struggles – Dexerto
Pacman & Enable break down how LA Thieves can overcome current CDL struggles LA Thieves / Reverse SweepWith LA Thieves being one of the notable teams to struggle at the recent CDL Stage 1 Major, Reverse Sweep’s Enable and Pacman explain what the team’s issues are and how they can be fixed moving forward. LA Thieves have certainly come back to earth a bit after their hot 4-0 start in the CDL 2021 season. A one-sided 3-0 defeat to Dallas Empire in the final match of Super Week cost them the top spot in Group B, followed by a stunning upset sweep at the hands of cross-town rivals LA Guerrillas in the first round of the Major. While they did take care of business against the struggling Toronto Ultra in the Losers Bracket, a subsequent 3-1 loss to OpTic Chicago saw them finish tied for 5th/6th – a decidedly lower final placement than what many would have predicted for the CDL’s newest team. https://twitter.com/CODLeague/status/1367583989498806275 Why LA Thieves are struggling in CDL 2021 According to 100T member Enable, his org’s CoD squad is a bit “hit or miss” at the moment: “They’re streaky; sometimes they’re like ‘wow, this is exactly how you need to play, do this every time,’ and then they have a lot of times where they’re just ego-challenging everything and not making smart decisions.” Enable’s Reverse Sweep co-host Pacman, however, had a less generous way of describing LAT’s recent performances: “That’s a really nice way to say that. LA Thieves kinda suck for what they should be, and you’re not going to look at their roster and tell me this is acceptable.” The question then becomes: how can this team’s super-talented and stacked squad begin to live up to expectations? While the answer may not be so simple and cut-and-dry, there are some things they can do to help rectify their current situation. “The whole team needs to just buy into that way of thinking, having that playstyle,” Enable said, referring to Austin ‘SlasheR’ Liddicoat’s “greatness or nothing” attitude. “Because if you don’t, not only are you going to get games like you got in the Major, but it’s going to create some tension with Austin.” Should Kenny switch to an SMG role? As for Pacman, he believes that at least part of the solution could lie in a shuffle of roles within the roster. One player that both analysts focused on was Kenny, who starred as an SMG slayer in his rookie year with Team Kaliber before transitioning to a more assault rifle role in recent years. “Kenny is disgusting, but I think he should be running a sub [SMG],” he said. “When he came onto the scene, he won back-to-back tournaments as an SMG. When you look at the other top teams, Atlanta has Simp and aBeZy, Dallas has Shotzzy and Huke, OpTic has Scump and Envoy – Kenny is right up there, he has the potential to be one of those guys, if not better than all of those guys. And I feel like you’re taking away from that potential you could have.” “I’m not saying make a team change or any drastic things like that, but I just think you should try it and see how it works.” Right now, it’s very much a ‘time will tell’ situation for the Thieves, who will look to turn their season around quickly when Stage 2 kicks off on March 18. Which group they’ll be placed in and who they’ll have to face remains to be seen – the Stage 2 Group Selection takes place on March 12 at 10AM PT / 1PM ET.

Overwatch League’s Nate Nanzer confirms CoD World League franchising commissioner – Dexerto
Overwatch League’s Nate Nanzer confirms CoD World League franchising commissioner WISECall of Duty franchising is set to be put in place next year, and the person who will take up the role of commissioner and lead this new CoD World League has now been confirmed. Call of Duty will be the latest major esport to receive franchising, and the second one managed by Activision Blizzard after the creation of the Overwatch League in 2017. Speaking with ESPN Esports, Overwatch League commissioner Nate Nanzer confirmed that Johanna Faries, currently the Head of the CoD World League at Activision, has been named the commissioner of the upcoming franchised league. Apart from confirming that Faries will be his counterpart in the new CWL, Nanzer remained tight-lipped about further details, simply saying he knows that something “awesome” is being pulled together. (Conversation begins at the 20:00 mark) Who is Johanna Faries Faries first joined Activision Blizzard as Head of Product for the current CWL in October of 2018, after having served over a decade in the National Football League as an executive. The Harvard graduate’s role as Head of the CWL has been to oversee strategic leadership, business operations, and product development, all of which will definitely carry over to her job description as commissioner. Her appointment as commissioner comes as no major surprise, considering that she did after joining CoD Esports during a pivotal year which saw the competitive format changed from 4v4 to 5v5. With such a massive transition having gone as smoothly and seamlessly as it has under her watch, fans will likely feel confident having Faries remain at the helm once franchising gets put in place. What is Call of Duty Franchising? The premise of franchising is to have a league where organizations can purchase spots and consistently field teams each season without having to worry about qualifying every year or being relegated due to poor results. Call of Duty franchising is expected to be put in place in time for next season, and it’s been confirmed that the league will be city-based, meaning each of participating teams will represent the cities that they are based out of. Sources have reported that Activision Blizzard have already set a price for each spot in the league, with organizations having to dish out $25 million for each spot. Other than that, the details surrounding the new CWL remain a bit cloudy, but fans can expect information to start rolling in a lot more over the next few months.

Overwatch and CoD Zombies collide in perfect Workshop map – Dexerto
Overwatch and CoD Zombies collide in perfect Workshop map Activision-BlizzardThe Overwatch Workshop has allowed the community to explore crossovers with many popular games, with one user recreating a Zombies-esque gamemode from Call of Duty. The options available within Overwatch’s workshop mode have made the game completely customizable in every aspect. The community has embraced this, using their creativity to bring games like StarFox 64, Smash, and even Flappy Bird alive in the Blizzard first person shooter. The latest game to feature in the workshop though is a rendition of Call of Duty Zombies. The popular player-vs-environment gamemode has been around for years, and now Overwatch players can fend of hordes of crazed beasts on Horizon Lunar Colony. Reddit user ‘FrikinPopsicle69’ shared his new workshop creation, Horizon Breakout, to the world on September 17. Read more: How to get LEGO Bastion skin – The concept being the game mode is pretty interesting. An accident broke out on Horizon Lunar Colony, which has led to a swarm of raging Winstons becoming unleashed, terrorising the once-peaceful colony. Players start off as Ana, trying to fend off the barrage of angry gorillas while keeping each other alive. With every kill you get, you earn points which you can put towards upgrading your hero. You can also spend your points on unlocking new areas of the map, going from Point B all the way through to the initial attackers spawn. Read more: Sinatraa leaks hero for MVP skin – The game runs endlessly, with the objective to survive for as long as possible. If one of your teammates does kick the bucket though, you can revive them by standing where they died for a period of time. As with every good game, there’s even a couple of Easter eggs, which Popsicle has shared with the community. One such feature is the ‘Hammond’s Rent-A-Tank’ store, which you can find in Hammond’s room near Point A. If you can get there, you will be able to access a super-powered tank for the round, helping you clear some of the more pesky Winstons. If you’ve been having an itch for some good old PvE gameplay, or wanted to bring an old classic like Zombies back to life in the Overwatch universe, this workshop mode will satisfy you. Bring either yourself or up to three mates and help stop the base from being overrun. The workshop code for Horizon Breakout is EFE3WD.

Overpowered Warzone optic completely removes glint from snipers – Dexerto
Overpowered Warzone optic completely removes glint from snipers ActivisionThere’s a sniper scope in Call of Duty: Warzone that completely removes the glint from Vanguard snipers, and it’s making things a little overpowered in the battle royale. Since the very first day of Warzone, sniper rifles have always played a huge role in the battle royale meta. With Verdansk and Caldera being so vast, and most of them having one-shot potential, the long-range weapons are a key part of the arsenal. Like everything else, however, they need to be balanced. One of the ways in which this is achieved is by having a glint show up to give away a sniper’s position – which, in turn, gives you a moment to react before you’re fired upon. It hasn’t always been smooth sailing on that front, however, as players have found ways to get around having the glint pop up. While the devs have addressed a few of those problems before, there appears to be a new one on the horizon. In his March 21 YouTube video, Warzone content creator IceManIsaac highlighted the fact that the Vanguard snipers have an optic that does away with the glint entirely. The optic in question is the ZF4 3.5x Rifle Scope, and the reason behind it not having a glint is due to the magnification. As the YouTuber notes, if a scope has over 4x magnification, it will have a glint, so the 3.5x falls right in the sweet spot of having range but also not giving away your position. “For things like the 4x-8x, you would see it (the glint) and even apparently the 3x-6x because upwards of six times zoom,” Isaac said. “The 3.5x rifle scope? No sir! You are catching people off like crazy.” The NRG content creator noted that he was highlighting the overpowered attachment in hopes that it gets patched, but admitted that people will run it in the meantime. As per WZRanked stats, the optic has seen a bit of usage to this point, but still lacks way behind some of the options. Though, expect that changes in the near future.

“Overpowered” Warzone akimbo pistol loadout replaces SMGs with deadly TTK – Dexerto
“Overpowered” Warzone akimbo pistol loadout replaces SMGs with deadly TTK ActivisionWarzone players have started rocking a new dual-wield Pistol loadout that rips through enemies at close-range, and is about as deadly as an SMG as some believe it is “overpowered”. Ever since Call of Duty: Warzone was first released, the CoD battle royale has had its fair share of broken loadouts and exploits that players have used to get a leg up on their competition. Even though it’s been a while, plenty of players are still haunted by the devastating DMR and Diamatti loadouts, as well as the deadly FiNN LMG meta that ripped through Modern Warfare and forced the developers to make quick fixes. There have been a handful of problematic loadouts since then, and while the developers have kept on top of things, it looks like they have a new one to figure out. Deadly akimbo 1911 pistol loadout is basically an SMG Over the past few days, multiple Warzone community members – including YouTubers JGOD and Metaphor – have shone a spotlight on the fully automatic, dual-wield 1911 pistols from Vanguard. “These things are out of control, they are absolutely broken, and you are going to win every single close-range fight with them,” Metaphor said in his August 18 video, noting how they’re ultra effective within 10 metres. The build that players are using does see the pistols sacrifice a little bit of accuracy and range, but in exchange, you do get a massive boost to the fire rate, while their damage also receives a slight uptick. Muzzle: M1929 Silencer – Barrel: Cooper Full-Auto – Optic: Slate Reflector – Trigger Action: Rapid Action – Magazine: .45 ACP 24-round mags – Ammunition: Hollow Point – Rear Grip: Taped Grip – Perk 1: Akimbo – Perk 2: Quick – While pistols, sometimes, go under the radar as a secondary weapon, the fact this akimbo build has a TTK of around 300ms means that it’s definitely worth trying if you’ve got everything unlocked. If you haven’t, you’ll have to spend some time grinding away to grab the needed attachments, and by that point, they might even get hit with a nerf. Though, we’ll have to wait and see on that front, given the pistols still have a low pick rate.

Overpowered Serpentine Perk to be nerfed in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded – Dexerto
Overpowered Serpentine Perk to be nerfed in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded ActivisionWarzone Season 4 Reloaded has arrived and it’s introduced a number of changes that players have been calling for, including a nerf to the controversial Serpentine Perk coming later down the line. After plenty of build-up, Warzone Season 4 Reloaded is here and it’s going to be a big one. Players have the new Vargo-S Assault Rifle to get to grips with, and even a Terminator crossover to get stuck into. Raven have also introduced a number of changes to make the game feel fairer and more balanced, including one that players have been desperate to see for some time. Warzone Season 4 Reloaded will finally see the overpowered Serptine Perk get nerfed. Warzone Season 4 Reloaded nerfs Serpentine Perk The Serpentine Perk was first introduced in CoD Vanguard before it hit Caldera in Season 3 Reloaded. It allowed players who are sprinting to reduce incoming damage from bullets, explosives, and fire by 20%. However, the damage reduction will be lowered from 20% to 15% in Season 4 Reloaded. Although this may seem like a small adjustment on the surface, it should keep the Perk from feeling quite as unfair as it has previously. Unfortunately, this change won’t be rolled out at the same time as the rest of the mid-season update, but is expected in the coming days. Players had become frustrated with missing out on what would be a guaranteed kill because an enemy can soak up an absurd number of bullets. Many felt that Serpentine was too forgiving of players who found themselves caught out in the open, removing the need for smart positioning in fights. Back when the Perk was first announced for Vanguard, experts like JGOD were concerned that it would be overpowered when it made the jump to Warzone. This proved to be the case and Serpentine quickly became the game’s most popular Perk 1 selection and players immediately called for a nerf. Prior to the start of Season 4 Reloaded, Serpentine had a pick rate of around 32%, placing it ahead of other favorites like Cold Blooded and Double Time in the Perk 1 slot. It will be interesting to see how its popularity changes now that it doesn’t reduce damage as drastically. With this nerf in place, fans will be hoping the Serpentine becomes less common in Warzone matches, but if the changes aren’t enough we could see another nerf pushed out in the run-up to Warzone Season 5.

“Overpowered” MW3 gun dominates in Warzone Season 3 thanks to one attachment – Dexerto
“Overpowered” MW3 gun dominates in Warzone Season 3 thanks to one attachment ActivisionWarzone has a new “overpowered” weapon in Season 3, but it takes one key change to make it better than the meta Renetti. Over the last few years, Warzone players have been able to take weapons and tweak them to their heart’s content. This has included turning LMGs into ARs, SMGS into ARs, and even snipers into shotguns. Things have gone up another notch in Modern Warfare thanks to Conversion Kits, but they aren’t the only attachments that change things in a big way. Oh no, we still have Akimbo attachments for select weapons too. The WSP Stinger falls under that umbrella too, and according to Warzone expert Metaphor, the handgun becomes “overpowered” if you start rocking two at a time. So much so, that it beats the Renetti, which has become the more meta pick. “This thing, I was outgunning countless Renettis. This thing is actually crazy, its the akimbo WSP Stinger,” he said, noting that the secondary weapon recently received a buff to its rate of fire in Season 3. “It actually makes it kill super fast. It was really bad before the buff, but it feels competent now. I think this gun might actually be better than the Renetti. It doesn’t have the range that the Renetti has, you have to get up close and personal, but it is extremely overpowered when you push people with it.” Muzzle: S-37C DL Breacher – Barrel: HISS Short Light Barrel – Laser: XTEN Sidearm-L400 – Magazine: 32-round mag – Rear Grip: Akimbo WSP Stinger – Obviously, going with a handgun as your secondary weapon isn’t for everyone, but getting a quasi-SMG without the need to use the Gunner Vest for Overkill is something to consider. The WSP Stinger isn’t the only ‘OP’ thing running wild in Warzone season 3 either, as C4 explosives are back in a big way too.

“Overpowered” Modern Warfare 3 loadout turns burst Assault Rifle into full-auto demon – Dexerto
“Overpowered” Modern Warfare 3 loadout turns burst Assault Rifle into full-auto demon ActivisionThis Assault Rifle loadout could be set to “take over” Modern Warfare 3 in short order thanks to a clever setting change that turns your burst rifles into fully automatic monsters. With millions of players around the world all jumping into the annual CoD grind once again, it’s that time of the year when everyone is trying to get ahead of the curve. Be it through genius gameplay tactics or next-level loadouts, players are always looking for the early edge. Seemingly raising the bar just days after launch, CoD content creator ‘FourEyes’ may have just uncovered the most powerful Assault Rifle loadout yet. One that hinges on a crucial change to one hidden setting in the game’s menus. So if you’re looking to dominate Modern Warfare 3, at least until possible nerfs shut down your momentum, here’s the DG-58 loadout you need to top the scoreboards in every lobby. ‘Game breaking’ Modern Warfare 3 Assault Rifle loadout Described as “the most broken, overpowered” weapon CoD has seen in years, the YouTuber ran through how they turned a mediocre burst weapon into perhaps Modern Warfare 3’s strongest pick. Selecting the DG-58 Assault Rifle, they morph this three-round burst weapon into what’s effectively a fully automatic AR with one simple tweak in the menus. Simply head into the game’s settings and navigate to your input of choice, either Keyboard & Mouse or Controller. From there, head to the Gameplay column, scroll down to Combat Behaviours, and then enter the Combat Advanced Settings screen. Here you’ll see the option for ‘Manual Fire Behaviour.’ Switch this to the ‘Hold’ option to do the trick. Now when firing a burst weapon of any kind, simply holding down the trigger will continuously fire out rounds from the gun. This means you can instead focus your attention on being more accurate, rather than having to manually time your shots. For a quick breakdown, here’s how to change the settings in Modern Warfare 3: Enter the Modern Warfare 3 settings menu – Navigate to your input (Keyboard & Mouse or Controller) – Head to the Gameplay column – Scroll down to the Combat Behaviours section – Enter the Combat Advanced Settings screen – Toggle the Manual Fire Behaviour setting to ‘Hold’ – And for the full DG-58 loadout, be sure to use the following attachments as shared by FourEyes on YouTube. DG-56 LS18 Barrel – MK. 3 Reflector Optic – Soldier Pro Padded Stock – SL Skeletal Vertical Underbarrel – Shadowstrike Support Muzzle – By changing this option and equipping the attachments listed above, you should be melting enemies in no time with “pinpoint accuracy.” If you’re just dropping in, be sure to brush up on some of our other MW3 guides below: Best Modern Warfare 3 AR class loadouts | How to slide cancel in Modern Warfare 3 | Best controller settings in Modern Warfare 3 | All maps & modes | How to play Modern Warfare 3 at 120 FPS on PS5 | Modern Warfare 3 TTK | Campaign mission list | How to fix packet burst

“Overpowered” Grau 5.56 loadout absolutely dominates in Modern Warfare – Dexerto
“Overpowered” Grau 5.56 loadout absolutely dominates in Modern Warfare Infinity WardPopular Call of Duty YouTuber ‘Swagg’ found a way to make the new Grau 5.56 rifle in Modern Warfare ‘overpowered’ – and it’s starting to remind him of the AK-12 from past titles. The launch of Season 2 gave every Modern Warfare player the chance to pick up the reinvented rifle from Black Ops 2. While many are still tinkering with the weapon’s capabilities, Swagg already found a setup for the “G-joint” to mow down opponents. Taking attachments that boosts the Grau’s accuracy while giving it a healthy amount of range to complement its ability to tag people from distance, and make it a default weapon of choice for various situations. To get it there, Swagg attached the Monolithic suppressor, the FFS 20.8” Nexus barrel, the Commando Foregrip underbarrel, XRK Void II rear grip, and the 50 round extended mag for additional firepower. The gun already has decent control and damage to make it a favorite among players, but Swagg’s enhancements take it to another level. “A lot of you know about this DLC weapon,” he said in his latest video. “I think it’s a top-three gun in the game, maybe one of the best guns in the game.” He clued in his viewers that changing the barrel to this gun also affects the ironsight the gun sports in the game, eventually giving him the “ironsight that looks exactly like the AK-12.” The ensuing gameplay showed off the loadout’s capabilities, showing the content creator making plays from short-to-long range and lighting up the killfeed with the Grau. Even after a multikill, he managed to keep the gun in control to transfer his spray and having loads of ammo left in the clip after being done. “Did you see how easy that nuke was?” he said. “The gun is just that good. [This setup] is how to make it overpowered. This is the best setup by far.” There will be plenty of players testing out the Grau 5.56 for themselves in Modern Warfare Season 2, and Swagg’s setup could easily be one of the more popular loadouts for the new weapon.

Overpowered CoD Vanguard pistol banned as it can “2-shot” across the map – Dexerto
Overpowered CoD Vanguard pistol banned as it can “2-shot” across the map Activision / PixabayA Call of Duty: Vanguard pistol has already been banned from tournaments, as a 1911 loadout can effectively “two-shot” enemies from across the map. Unsurprisingly, pros immediately rallied for a ban. Call of Duty: Vanguard has been out for under a week, having launched on November 5. And, as is the case with most large releases, players have been diving deep into the game’s options and discovering some… concerning situations. With a franchise-high 10 attachments per gun in Vanguard, there’s more room than ever for overpowered weaponry. And one such example has been a Vanguard 1911 pistol loadout, which is apparently a quasi-sniper at range. After the 1911 class began emerging on November 7, it was quickly banned from CMG tournament play. But, for those who want to be annoying in quick play with it, here you go. “Two-shot” Vanguard 1911 pistol loadout oh, Both female sentinels make 0 noise while mantling & this pistol 2 bullets no matter where pic.twitter.com/vmaGfmuFon — Dylan (@Flexd_) November 8, 2021 As you can see in Flexd’s tweet, the class uses nine of the 1911’s 10 total attachments. Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer – Barrel: Gracey Short No. 2 – Optic: Slate Reflector – Trigger Action: Hair Trigger – Magazine: .30 Russian Short – Ammo Type: Hollow Point – Rear Grip: Fabric Grip – Proficiency: Fleet – Kit: Quick – While many in the replies asked why he “spilled” the details to the masses, others simply called for bans. Flexd described it as a pistol that “two-bullets no matter where,” so one can imagine why it’d be a particularly strong secondary. Vanguard 1911 loadout banned from tourneys 🚨Vanguard Rules Update🚨 🔸Effective 7pm EST – The 1911 Pistol will be restricted in all tournament & ladder matches.https://t.co/YCBoOCPW2t pic.twitter.com/J4h4wBRuqH — CMG (@CMG_Esports) November 8, 2021 In response, CMG banned the 1911 from all matches on November 8. That’s about three days for it to get removed from money play, barely enough time for many to even realize the gun was a problem. One example was the New York Subliners’ James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks who asked why the pistol was banned in the replies. Quickly, former pro Trei ‘Zer0’ Morris and others explained that it’s because the gun is “two bullets” and some of the attachments don’t appear in kill cam, so you can’t simply ban said attachments. With Vanguard out for such a brief amount of time and Warzone Pacific integration coming next month, you can be sure that players are keeping an eye out for anything that could be OP. Hopefully that helps Sledgehammer patch some of these shenanigans out.

“Overpowered” BAR Warzone loadout turns AR into deadly SMG – Dexerto
“Overpowered” BAR Warzone loadout turns AR into deadly SMG ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone TikTokers have been tweaking the already powerful BAR assault rifle and turning it into an SMG loadout that can run riot on Caldera. It has been a few weeks since Warzone players left their longtime home of Verdansk and started getting to grips with their newest place of battle, Caldera. With the switch to the pacific-themed map, and the addition of CoD Vanguard’s weapons, the battle royale’s meta has seen some huge shifts. For a start, neither the KAR98, nor the Swiss K31 top the popularity charts anymore, and many long-time Modern Warfare assault rifles have also been dislodged from the top ten. The Vanguard weapons have become the rulers of the roost, including the BAR assault rifle. However, you don’t have to keep it as a long-range weapon. Just like with many of the assault rifles that have come before, Warzone players have been tweaking the BAR in such a way that it is better used like an SMG. As one player, TikToker TTVZyro, shows the switch up to turn the AR into pseudo-SMG is pretty easy and it can rip through enemies pretty quickly too as they’ll be caught somewhat by surprise. Even the TikToker believes the AR is “too overpowered” even as an SMG. Naturally, with the BAR being a Vanguard weapon, you’ll use all ten attachments slots, including many of the old reliable choices such as the Recoil Booster muzzle, Slate Reflector sight, Fully Loaded perk, and Ready grip. BAR SMG Warzone loadout Muzzle: Recoil Booster – Barrel: Chariot 18″ Rapid – Underbarrel: M3 Ready grip – Magazine: 8mm Klauser 30 Round Mags – Ammunition: Hollow Point – Optic: Slate Reflector – Stock: Pistol Grip Custom – Rear Grip: Polymer Grip – Perk 1: Hardscope – Perk 2: Fully Loaded – The BAR has quickly established itself as one of the top ARs in Warzone, sitting just inside the current top ten most-used weapons. Whether or not the SMG-like build for the weapon takes off remains to be seen, but it is at least worth trying out if you’re looking for a viable change of pace.

“Overpowered” Aftermarket Part turns deadly MW3 AR into meta SMG in Warzone – Dexerto
“Overpowered” Aftermarket Part turns deadly MW3 AR into meta SMG in Warzone Treyarch/ActivisionThere is an “overpowered” Aftermarket Part that turns one of Modern Warfare 3’s best Assault Rifles into a top-tier pick as an SMG, and it’s pretty insane. Over the last few years, Call of Duty fans have had more ways than ever to customize their favorite weapons. The biggest change of which was the addition of weapon tuning, which let you fully focus on one aspect – say negating recoil or bumping up the fire rate. While weapon tuning has been done away with, the new Aftermarket Parts in Modern Warfare 3 allow you to tweak guns in a similar way as you can turn SMGs into Assault Rifles, Snipers into Shotguns, and so on. That is the case with the BP50 and the JAK Revenger Kit, as the new conversion kit turns the AR into one of the best SMGs in the game. That’s according to a few Warzone experts like Metaphor, anyway, who described it as an “overpowered” attachment. “This thing is absolutely insane and will be a top tier meta contender with the HRM, as long as you’re shooting people in the first damage range,” the YouTuber said in his April 24 video. “It does pretty damage with 1000 rate of fire, which is absolutely crazy. Outside of the first damage range, though, you are going to have issues.” Muzzle: Casus Brake – Optic: Nydar Model 2023 – Ammunition: 9mm High Grain – Rear Grip: TRST-IV Grip Tape – Conversion Kit: JAK Revenger Kit – As noted, Metaphor isn’t the only Warzone expert that is bigging up the BP50’s conversion kit. TrueGameData added that it is “an absolutely top tier SMG” that matches the TTK of the more meta HRM. The Assualt Rifle is clearly an excellent choice for anyone who wants to get a little weird and use a different SMG to everyone else.

Overlooked Warzone LMG is “hidden gem” that rivals meta weapons – Dexerto
Overlooked Warzone LMG is “hidden gem” that rivals meta weapons ActivisionIf you’re looking for a new LMG to rock in Warzone, you might want to consider the HCR 56 as it’s proving to be a “hidden gem” in the battle royale. Across the original Warzone and what we have now, pretty much every type of weapon has had its moment in the spotlight. Everything from battle rifles to pistols, riot shields, and beyond have proven to be viable. With the integration between Warzone and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 on the horizon, players have been changing up their loadouts in a bid to try and get ahead of the curve. That’s led to a few experimental classes getting some in the meta. One weapon that has been on the fringes of the meta for a while is the HCR 56. The deadly LMG delivers in long to mid-range fights and is proving to be a bit of a “hidden gem” right now. Best HCR 56 loadout for Warzone Season 6 That’s according to Warzone expert SallyIsADog after he highlighted a loadout for the LMG that had been suggested by a fan over the last few weeks. Despite never really using the LMG, Sally was a fan of it almost instantly, praising its control in gunfights. “At that range, it really felt like it excelled,” he said after deleting one enemy in a mid-range fight. “Super accurate, easy to control, I like it.” Like other LMG classes, the HCR benefits from the deadly High Velocity rounds but also needs some range buffing attachments on there. So, that’s where the likes of the FTAC Hornet barrel and RF Crown muzzle come into play. Muzzle: RF Crown 50 – Barrel: FTA Hornet 20’ Barrel – Optic: SZ Recharge DX – Rear Grip: Stip-40 Grip – Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity – As noted, the LMG has been on the fringes of the meta for a little while, but has recently crept up in viability. In fact, WZRanked stats have it ahead of more popular picks like the Kastov 545, Tempus Razorback, and FT Avancer. So, you may as well give it a try.

Overlooked Warzone LMG actually beats STG44 with lighting-fast TTK – Dexerto
Overlooked Warzone LMG actually beats STG44 with lighting-fast TTK One of Modern Warfare 3’s LMGs actually dominates Warzone with a rapid-fire TTK. Yet, it’s still being overlooked by many players. Even though the Modern Warfare 3 cycle in Warzone is slowly coming to an end, the battle royale is still undergoing some changes. The Season 5 Reloaded update was rolled out a few weeks back and offered a number of weapon changes for players to get their teeth sunk into. Since that update, a number of Warzone players are starting to look at the guns that’ll dominate the battle royale for the final few weeks before Black Ops 6. While the likes of the STG44, MCW, Striker, and KAR98K still dominate the meta, there are other options too that are being overlooked. The TAQ Eradicator has been highlighted in the past by Warzone experts, but stats guru WhosImmortal is shining the spotlight on it again. Why? Well, the LMG actually outguns some of the best weapons in the game with a lightning-fast TTK. “I think its pretty definitive what the best long-range option is, the TAQ Eradicator,” he said in his September 3 video, noting that the LMG has a “variable fire rate” that slows the TTK just a touch. “The thing is incredibly low recoil, incredibly easy to use, its got insane velocity, so its very easy to stay on target consistently, and you shouldn’t see a drop off in TTK.” Muzzle: Quartermaster Suppressor – Barrel: Conquer-70 Long Barrel – Underbarrel: Paracord Grip – Ammunition: 7.62x51mm High Grain – Stock: Tacverte Core Stock – The YouTuber added that the Eradicator “runs laps” around the STG at long range with its 820 ms TTK. However, he also pairs it with the Superi 46 to do the dirty work in those up-close fights as well. Despite the LMG being highlighted by some big names, it is still overlooked. As per WZRanked stats, the Eradicator sits as the 40th most popular gun in Warzone right now. That should change before long as the LMG is no joke. It really does pack a serious punch.

Overlooked Warzone 2 AR has deadly TTK to match meta ISO Hemlock – Dexerto
Overlooked Warzone 2 AR has deadly TTK to match meta ISO Hemlock ActivisionIf you’re looking for a new assault rifle in Warzone 2 with a lethal TTK across a few ranges, you may want to look at revisiting the M13B. Over the last few months, the meta in Warzone 2 has undergone a few changes. It was previously dominated by LMGs, with the RPK and Sakin running the show, but they’ve faded away. Following recent updates, several assault rifles and SMGs have started to take up that mantle. While it has been significantly nerfed, the ISO Hemlock remains the go-to pick for many players, while others remain fans of the M4. If you don’t want to use either of those, well, there is a slightly overlooked assault rifle that had been in the spotlight once before that is still pretty solid. And, well, it’s actually perfect if you’re a long-range player. Best M13B loadout for Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded That assault rifle in question? It’s the M13B. It was highlighted by Warzone 2 stats guru WhosImmortal in his May 24 video, as he put it at the top of the pile as his personal favorite AR. “This is very low recoil, very easy to use, and it now has the best long-range TTK of the rifles and when you factor in this damage and its actual TTK and the fact that its recoil is so low, you get the perfect recipe, it’s the perfect storm for a great weapon,” he said. Naturally, the loadout contains some of the staple attachments of previous M13B builds, including the Bruen Echelon barrel, 60-round mag, and, of course, the Aim OP-V4 optic. Barrel: 14’ Bruen Echelon – Muzzle: Harbinger D20 – Optic: Aim OP-V4 – Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity – Magazine: 60-round mag – While the AR was, once, towards the top of the meta, it has fallen off slightly. As per WZRanked stats, it slipped to having only a 1.6% pick rate. Though, that is up compared to recent weeks. It shouldn’t be too hard to put the loadout together if you’ve run the M13B before, so, give it a go and see if you fall back in love with it like others have.

Overlooked MW3 SMG is best burst weapon after big rework in Season 4 – Dexerto
Overlooked MW3 SMG is best burst weapon after big rework in Season 4 ActivisionModern Warfare 3 Season 4 introduced various buffs and nerfs to the arsenal of weapons, but no gun benefitted more than this often overlooked SMG which is now, by far, the best burst gun. The Rival 9 gets plenty of use in Ranked Play, but the SMG is far from a popular gun in regular multiplayer. The addition of stronger alternatives like the RAM-9 and FJX Horus pushed the Rival 9 out of favor. However, the SMG’s JAK Headhunter Carbine Conversion received a huge rework in Season 4. This has transformed it from a forgettable Aftermarket Part to one of the fastest-killing weapons in Modern Warfare 3. This unexpected rework gives the Rival 9 new life as a truly top-tier gun. This rework saw the attachment’s maximum, near-medium, and minimum damage ranges all increased by 25%. Also, the converted SMG’s fire rate within each burst was buffed from 850 RPM to 1200 RPM, although its burst delay remains untouched. In practice, this new damage profile and hastened fire rate results in a TTK of just 265 ms. That’s amongst the fastest in MW3. Previously, the JAK Headhunter had a fast TTK of 276 ms up close, but this dropped to a far less competitive 346 ms beyond 25 meters. That is no longer the case. Here’s the best Rival 9 loadout to get the most out of the reworked JAK Headhunter conversion kit: Conversion Kit: JAK Headhunter Carbine Conversion – Muzzle: JAK BFB – Optic:: JAK Glassless Optic – Stock: EXF Close Quarters Assault Stock – Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop – The main focus of this build is to improve recoil control as much as possible. Combining the JAK BFB muzzle and EXF Close Quarters Assault Stock makes each burst extremely accurate, allowing the Rival 9 to remain competitive at any range. Those wanting to play more aggressively should instead use the Zehmn35 Compensated Flash Hider. This alternative muzzle keeps this loadout feeling snappy and responsive, but it doesn’t provide nearly as much recoil control as the JAK BFB. If burst weapons are your thing, these optimized loadouts for the FR 5.56 and DG-56 will also serve you well. For other options on what to use in multiplayer, check out the best MW3 loadouts and find out what’s meta right now.
