NICKMERCS creates powerful FFAR Warzone loadout after Cold War nerfs YouTube: NICKMERCS/ActivisionTwitch star Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has got an interesting FFAR loadout for Call of Duty Warzone following the recent nerfs to the DMR and other weapons. The meta in Warzone is constantly evolving as Call of Duty fans try and get a leg up on their opposition in any way shape or form. Since the launch of Black Ops Cold War, it’s been all about the DMR, Diamatti’s, and MAC-10, but recent nerfs have got players searching for different choices. Some have gone back to the Modern Warfare weapons – the M4, AMAX, and Kilo-141, for example – while others have tried to find answers in Cold War. The FFAR, which resembles the FAMAS from years past, has been the answer for some. It’s even got NICKMERCS trying it out and dropping a pretty nice loadout. The FaZe Clan member unveiled the loadout he’s been using in his January 16 video, noting that, even though its an assault rifle, it might make some of the SMGs obsolete. “However, I do think this FFAR could replace a lot of the SMGs,” Nick said. “I think the overall kit is a pretty good kit, and if you want to have some fun, this is a great class to do that.” The accuracy does take a slight knock in Nick’s setup, however, the FFAR does get a nice little boost to both the range and mobility. It’s not exactly going to be a sniper or a KAR, but for what it is, it’s certainly nice and up there with some of the best weapons around right now. Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Barrel: 21.2” Ranger – Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip – Ammo: Salvo 50 round fast mag – Stock: Raider Stock – The YouTuber does note, though, that it’s probably not going to be a class you see streamers running in tournaments. But, for a bit of fun and racking up kills, it’s certainly a nice change of pace. Read More: Best Warzone loadout after DMR nerf – Plus, when the time comes and Raven rolls out a few more nerfs, everyone will be searching for the next best thing, and the FFAR should be up there. So, you may as well get used to it, if you’re not already.

NICKMERCS creates ‘meta’ Krig 6 loadout for Warzone Season 3 – Dexerto
NICKMERCS creates ‘meta’ Krig 6 loadout for Warzone Season 3 FaZe Clan / ActivisionNick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has shown off his new Krig 6 loadout in Warzone Season 3, as the gun looks set to become the new meta weapon after a big buff. Since the launch of Season 3, which has brought us an overhauled map in the form of Verdansk 84 and some major changes, the gun meta has been a confusing one. The M16 and Aug received big nerfs, as did the FFAR, meaning that the most popular weapons in Season 2 aren’t quite as dominant anymore. So, while players look for the best weapons to use, the Krig from Cold War has been talked about a lot — and Nick might have found the perfect build to take over Verdansk once again. While the likes of the Kilo and the CR-56 AMAX have been talked about as making their big return to the meta, some of the BOCW weapons are vying for their spots too. One of the main ones that looks ready to tear people up is the Krig 6, which boasts impressive recoil control and a decent rate of fire, and possibly one of the strongest options in its class. Here’s how Nick decks out his Krig 6 in Warzone Season 3: Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Barrel: 19.7” Ranger – Optic: Axial Arms 3x – Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip – Ammunition: STANAG 60 Rnd – This seems a fairly standard loadout as far as assault rifles go in Warzone, though both the Barrel and Underbarrel attachments will likely see some players disagree on what is best to use. If you’re looking for more Cold War weapons to try out in Warzone, the FARA 83 assault rifle looks ready to replace the FFAR as a mid-range phenom, and the new PPSh SMG is well worth trying out too. In the video above, Nick is using the FARA as his secondary, and popular YouTuber JGOD has also positioned it as one of the best weapons to use now, so we’d definitely recommend pairing these two for the best of both worlds.

NICKMERCS creates FFAR Warzone class “way better” than the meta – Dexerto
NICKMERCS creates FFAR Warzone class “way better” than the meta YouTube: NICKMERCS/ActivisionTwitch and YouTube star Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has got an FFAR loadout for Warzone that he believes is “way better” and faster than the current meta. Ever since Warzone launched a year ago as a part of Modern Warfare, players have been in a race to find the next best thing in terms of a loadout. The meta is always in flux, going from snipers with thermal scopes attached to SMGs and tactical rifles in the span of a few updates. Content creators are typically at the forefront of these changes, but they don’t always conform to the meta – sticking with what they trust. That appears to have helped NICKMERCS shape his FFAR loadout for Cold War Season 2. In his March 8 video, the FaZe Clan member noted that his fans had been imploring him to try out the new meta attachments for his different loadouts – especially for his FFAR. However, after testing it out, he isn’t feeling it. Read More: When is the Nuke event in Warzone? – “I was giving a shot because the whole community was telling me, Nick this is what you’ve got to use, but its just not what I like on my FFAR class, it’s just not it,” he said. “I’ve been playing with this new FFAR class which is kind of like my old one, and I like it way more, way better than what y’all had me using. It’s faster, it feels easier to control.” Instead of the meta, Nick is using what he thinks is best – an agency suppressor, a 21.2 Ranger barrel, 50 Salvo round fast mag, and Raider Stock. Though, he is switching things up and using the Infiltrator Grip. Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Barrel: 21.2 Ranger barrel – Underbarrel: Infiltrator Grip – Ammo: 50 Salvo round fast mag – Stock: Raider Stock – Of course, future updates might impact Nick’s class and make his favorite attachments pretty useless. However, until we reach that point, he’s going against the meta and using what he feels comfortable with.

NICKMERCS confirms he’ll return for Warzone 2 but warns it might not be for long – Dexerto
NICKMERCS confirms he’ll return for Warzone 2 but warns it might not be for long Activision / YouTube: NICKMERCSWith Apex Legends taking over as his main Battle Royale of choice lately, it’s been a while since Twitch star NICKMERCS has put in a lengthy stint with Warzone. Although he’s now confirmed a return with the launch of Warzone 2, even a full-fledged sequel might not be enough to keep him around for long. Through Warzone’s rise to the top of the BR charts, a few names helped lead the charge online, with NICKMERCS comfortably in that mix. During the height of Verdansk, rarely a day would go by where the MFAM leader wasn’t dropping into lobby after lobby with tens of thousands tuning in to watch the kill-race chaos unfold. Midway through 2021, however, that all changed as Nick announced his plans to ‘move on’ from the CoD BR. While we’ve seen the occasional trip down memory lane with a few odd Warzone streams since, Apex Legends has become his top priority. Not only for its “immaculate” gameplay, but also for its ranked playlist that he’s slowly mastered. With the hype train now speeding up as Warzone 2 draws near, Nick remains hesitant. While he’s now confirmed a return is indeed happening, the popular streamer warned it may not be enough to truly force him back for good. “I’m definitely gonna play it,” NICKMERCS told his passionate fanbase during a recent broadcast. “There’s no way the next Warzone comes out and I don’t play it.” Though exactly how much of a chance he’ll give Warzone 2, remains unclear. Even if the upcoming sequel were to launch with a highly requested ranked mode, a feature Nick had been demanding long before his departure, there’s still no guarantee he’ll stick around for long. “If the new Warzone has a ranked mode, are you gonna grind it?” a viewer asked during this recent stream, to which NICKMERCS didn’t have a clear answer. “I really don’t know,” he said. “I can’t tell you.” Read More: Full Warzone 2 map leaked with all POIs – “[Warzone 2] can have a ranked mode, but it can be horrible. It could be good, but it could not be as good as Apex,” he said, arguing companies like Activision “rarely do something great. More often than not, they f*** sh** up. “They hype it up, they wrap it in cool, bright paper. Then it comes out and it’s just so bland, more often than not.” So it’s safe to say the CoD veteran is keeping his expectations in check for Warzone 2. Even if the sequel launches with a more robust set of features and content, there’s a tall mountain to climb to drive him away from his current obsession in Apex Legends, Nick claimed. “I also think that Apex is getting better. They’re making a lot of quality of life improvements. That new map is incredible, I love Storm Point, I think it’s one of the best Battle Royale maps I’ve ever played. There’s always something to b**ch about, but Apex is in a really good spot.” Nick begins discussing Warzone 2 at the 1:43 mark below Without a release date set in stone for the sequel, there’s no telling when exactly we’ll see NICKMERCS dropping back into Warzone. Though with Modern Warfare 2 now in focus, it’s only a matter of time before we hear more.

NICKMERCS concerned Warzone 2.0 “doesn’t show promise” ahead of launch – Dexerto
NICKMERCS concerned Warzone 2.0 “doesn’t show promise” ahead of launch NICKMERCS/ActivisionStreaming star Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff believes that Warzone 2.0 “doesn’t show promise” as he’s worried about the next installment of the CoD battle royale. With the launch of Warzone 2.0 on the horizon, Call of Duty fans across the globe are eager to dive into the newest battle royale offering from the franchise, especially as it’s got some major changes from its predecessor. A number of content creators have already gotten an early look at the game, including NICKMERCS, who actually won the first Warzone 2.0 game between his fellow streamers. Despite that, the FaZe Clan star has given Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 a wide berth, sticking with Apex Legends for the time being. He’s said he’s going to dive into the battle royale side of things, but he’s still got a few concerns. NICKMERCS explains why he doesn’t miss playing CoD During a recent stream, the Apex Legends competitor was quizzed on whether or not he’d be diving into Warzone 2.0 and if he missed the Call of Duty scene. “Do you miss CoD at all? Nah. I think for a long time, playing Call of Duty, I was in a weird place where I really wanted to continue competing but I felt like I couldn’t because the game was just so bad. There were so many hackers,” Nick said. Nick noted that those hackers haven’t gone anyway, either. “I don’t know if it’s going to be any good man,” he added. “Hacking is still a problem, a big problem. Battle royale does not show promise.” Timestamp of 0:50 The FaZe Clan star did suggest that, at some point, his days of sticking with Apex Legends could come to an end, but he doesn’t expect it to happen anytime soon. He’ll certainly give Warzone 2.0 a go, but don’t be surprised if he hops off it to return to the Apex Games before long.

NICKMERCS, Cloakzy & more hit out at Warzone over “horrible” gun bugs – Dexerto
NICKMERCS, Cloakzy & more hit out at Warzone over “horrible” gun bugs Cloakzy / Infinity Ward / NICKMERCS[jwplayer br5AuoVJ] Call of Duty: Warzone has become overrun by a graphical “demon” glitch and popular streamers like NICKMERCS, Cloakzy, and BobbyPoff are begging Infinity Ward to fix the bug before it’s too late. As presently understood, the bug has no true cause and simply results in your weapons or enemies turning into monstrosities of corrupted pixels that resemble bizarre manifestations of the underworld. It has grown so common and infuriating that a streamer like Cloakzy, who has 1.4 million Twitter followers, has taken to social media to let Activision know just how dire the consequences of ignoring this issue will be: “Game’s going to die.” What the streamers may not realize is that Infinity Ward has already subtly addressed this glitch, confirming on their Trello board that a fix is in progress. @Activision Billion dollar company can’t fix simple bugs. Games going to die. — cloakzy (@cloakzy) August 12, 2020 But, regardless, their reactions confirm that this is the type of issue that needs to be resolved sooner than later. Like Cloakzy, NICKMERCS hit his timeline’s 1.4 million followers with a complaint, saying that the issues are “pissing him off.” Nick also put out a YouTube video explaining his frustrations more in detail, saying that he believes it’ll decimate the competitive scene. “This T-Rex glitch, or whatever you want to call it, is bugging the f**k out of me,” he said. “I can’t take it, I can’t do it. Swagg and I literally lost a tournament because of this glitch yesterday … this is going to kill tournaments, man.” The bug has been making its ugly face visible for much of Season 5, dating back to the $100,000 Toronto Ultra Warzone tournament, but has risen most prominently to the forefront of discourse following August 11’s TeeP Trials $15,000 tournament, during which seemingly every player experienced the ill effects of the issue. Aside from NICKMERCS and Swagg’s unfortunate experience, popular Warzone streamer BobbyPoff had his own run-in with the glitch, leading to the rage of a lifetime — absorbing everyone’s frustrations and letting them out like a Verdansk Spirit Bomb. As with everyone else who’s had to fight this inexplicable game mechanic, Bobby made sure to tag Infinity Ward, Activision, and Call of Duty in his rage-filled tweets. https://twitter.com/BobbyPoff/status/1293293226066161665 We won’t even try quoting from the Bobby’s rant; our asterisk key may not be able to survive the onslaught of expletive censoring needed to do so. But the sentiment is very clear: this bug is nightmarish and players are sick of it. On the plus side, Infinity Ward’s Trello card for the graphical corruption glitch has shifted over to “fixed in a future update,” so this should hopefully be fixed before any more controllers or keyboards end up smashed.

NICKMERCS claims Warzone’s old map is “way better” than Verdansk ’84 – Dexerto
NICKMERCS claims Warzone’s old map is “way better” than Verdansk ’84 YouTube: NICKMERCS/ActivisionStreaming star Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff believes Warzone’s old Verdansk map is better than the new version, and it’s not just because of nostalgia either. When Warzone first launched with Verdansk as its only map, players continually questioned the devs as to when they’d get a new map, and if Verdansk would undergo constant changes as we’ve seen from other battle royales. Over time, the classic map underwent plenty of changes with new POI’s cropping up every so often, but it’s now been replaced by Verdansk 1984 and apparently won’t be returning at any point. While Verdansk ’84 created plenty of excitement at first, many players have since switched and made Rebirth Island their go-to map, either because of hackers or because they’ve become bored with Verdansk. Well, if NICKMERCS had his way, it seems as if he’d bring back the original version of Verdansk, and it’s not just because he’s high on nostalgia either. The FaZe Clan star was reacting to his first-ever Warzone win when he realized how much better players had it with the older map. “Lowkey, the old map was so much better than the s**t we play now, right. The old map was way better man,” he said. “I’m serious. All the little things on the old map were better than the little things on the new map, is what I’m saying. The old map was way better guys, way better. Nostalgia wins every day? That’s not true.” Timestamp of 4:00 It wasn’t just revisiting the old Superstore drop or the areas around it that had Nick gushing over the old version of Verdansk as he also pointed out that he felt the classic Gulag was the best there has been. Plenty of players have asked for a throwback weekend kind of playlist where the classic Verdansk map returns, but the devs have said that the nuke event that launched Verdansk ’84 makes that difficult.

NICKMERCS claims Warzone’s M16 is the best weapon after AUG & FFAR nerf – Dexerto
NICKMERCS claims Warzone’s M16 is the best weapon after AUG & FFAR nerf YouTube: NICKMERCS/ActivisionStreaming star Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff believes the M16 is now Warzone’s best gun and if you’re not using it, you’re going to fall behind. Some Warzone players have called upon Raven Software to roll out constant weapon tuning updates to make sure that things still balanced in Verdansk. Their updates haven’t been all that constantly, but they’ve been regular enough to keep the meta changing every few weeks and months, Most recently, the AUG and FFAR – regarded as the two best weapons in the game – were given slight nerfs, with the AUG’s recoil being tweaked to make it a little bit wilder. As a result, players have ditched the AUG in favor of the M16, which has always been powerful but never the top dog in Warzone. However, NICKMERCS believes it deserves that tag now. In his April 8 video, the FaZe Clan star stated that with the AUG being nerfed, the M16 has taken it’s place in the burst meta. “It’s going to be the best gun, it’s going to be the gun everybody uses in tournaments and wagers, Nick said. With the AUG’s new recoil, Nick says it’s too hard to hit someone off a head glitch and that has helped the M16’s cause. “The AUG is still usable, but it’s not going to hit and have that control that the M16 has, and to be honest, they both hit the same way,” he added. “So, if you haven’t seen the switch or transition yet, trust me, you will. Everybody’s going over to the M16, you don’t want to be late.” It’s not all positive, though, as Nick notes that the burst meta is still around and isn’t going away just yet. The M16 will need a nerf before that happens. Read More: Best ZRG 20mm sniper Warzone loadout – Nick said previously that the M16 would need a nerf in line with the AUG being changed, but it remains to be seen if that’ll happen. For now, it looks as if you aren’t carrying the classic Call of Duty weapon, you’re not going to win games at the highest level.

NICKMERCS claims Warzone players on keyboard have massive advantage with RAM-7 – Dexerto
NICKMERCS claims Warzone players on keyboard have massive advantage with RAM-7 Activision / NICKMERCS (YouTube)The RAM-7 has seen an increase in popularity in Warzone Season 3, but Call of Duty content creator Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff isn’t a fan of this fast-firing AR. Modern Warfare’s RAM-7 has always been a decent pick for those that enjoy the accuracy of an AR, while also maintaining the overall speed of the game’s SMG class. While it may not be as strong as the likes of the CR-56 AMAX or Kilo 141, the RAM-7 has managed to break into the top five most-used Warzone weapons. In fact, many both casual and pro players have recently been using the gun as a deadly support class. Not only does this AR come packed with an incredibly fast rate of fire, but it also deals great damage across close to mid-range engagement ranges. Despite the RAM-7’s overall popularity and appeal, Call of Duty content creator NICKMERCS isn’t a fan of the lightning-fast AR. NICKMERCS RAM-7 loadout Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor – Barrel: FSS Ranger – Optic: VLK 3.0x – Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip – Ammo: 50-round mags – Following on from his recent discussion on Warzone’s map changes, the popular content creator gave his opinions on the new RAM-7 meta that is taking over the game. “Apparently the RAM-7 has taken over the game. You see Tfue and Symfuhny – keyboard and mouse guys using this gun,” says Nick. Read More: Broken pings in Warzone are ruining teamwork – There’s certainly no denying that recoil is much easier to manage on PC. This is especially true for guns that have a very high recoil pattern. While most Call of Duty guns offer extremely minimal amounts of vertical kick, there are a number that can be rather tricky to master. The RAM-7 is one of those ARs. Timestamp of 0:10 “I want to emphasize to you guys that the [RAM-7] is a keyboard and mouse gun. I still had a lot of fun with the thing, but I’m assuming a lot of you guys are controller players. This might not be the class for you, I’m just being honest.” When compared to the likes of the Kilo 141 and even the AMAX, the RAM-7 does come packed with some fairly significant recoil. “This definitely wasn’t the class for me,” admitted Nick. “I tried to run it like all the big keyboard players. I used the same attachments, the same stuff. The gun does a lot of damage, it does not move, it’s just a laser. It’s just hard to control the recoil at distances.” If you plan on using the NICKMERCS’ RAM-7 loadout on console, then be prepared to fight with your analog stick when going for those long-range kills. Of course, if you wish to improve your accuracy and tracking, JGOD has revealed his perfect Warzone settings to improve these areas.

NICKMERCS claims Warzone made streamers quit because it’s too “demanding” – Dexerto
NICKMERCS claims Warzone made streamers quit because it’s too “demanding” NICKMERCS/ActivisionTwitch star Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has suggested that some streamers have walked away from Warzone as it’s too “demanding” on the hands, especially if you use a controller. For years, Call of Duty players have been pushing the boundaries of the yearly releases to try and get a leg up on their opposition – be it through gun builds and the movement. The latter has been a hot topic across CoD, especially in regards to Warzone, as players who are able to slide cancel – allowing them to keep their tactical sprint up for as long as possible – lets them get a speed boost. This, as we’ve seen, can cause injuries – especially if you’re a controller player – and in the case of NICKMERCS, he believes it is a big reason why some streamers have quit the battle royale title and genre. NICKMERCS explains why Warzone is so “demanding” In his aptly named “why streamers quit Warzone” video from September 12, the FaZe Clan star suggested that the Call of Duty battle royale has one big difference from its rivals. That difference being the stress it puts on your hands, especially as a controller player, because of how much work you have to do. “I’ll tell you what bro, Apex, CoD, Fortnite… this f**king game is so demanding man, you’ve just got constantly crouch, slide, and spam,” Nick said. Former Call of Duty world champion Tyler ‘Teepee’ Polchow agreed with his take too, chiming in with a quick “yeah, seriously,” before the team moved on. Timestamp of 6:03 As we’ve seen with the competitive side of things in the Call of Duty League, there have been a number of injuries caused and inflamed by slide canceling – hampering the players ability to fight on a level playing field. Even if the mechanics were removed from Call of Duty and the subsequent Warzone 2, it’s still going to be something that pops up in time-to-time. It’s just the name of the game at this point.

NICKMERCS claims Warzone devs will never fix hacking & cheating issues – Dexerto
NICKMERCS claims Warzone devs will never fix hacking & cheating issues NICKMERCS/ActivisionYouTube and Twitch star Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff doesn’t believe that the Warzone devs can get the rampant hacking and cheating issues sorted out as more problems have cropped up. Ever since Warzone was released over a year ago, hackers and cheats have run riot in Verdansk. There’s been everything from god mode cheats to invisibility exploits, and even wackier things like hiding in care packages. Raven Software and Activision have stepped up and addressed some of the issues with banwaves, but players have called for more. Mainly, they want a better anti-cheat moving forward. Will they get that though? Well, NICKMERCS doesn’t believe so, even though he hopes that Activision realizes how bad things have gotten and makes a change. In his March 15 video, the FaZe Clan star said that Warzone was “broken” thanks to cheaters being able to end games, though, that has been addressed by the devs. However, he did make a wider point about cheaters. Read More: Top Warzone players call for Streamer Mode – “This is obviously a serious problem,” said Nick, referring back to the now-patched issue. “They clearly don’t have the means to fix this hacking thing in general,” he said, noting that devs have made “some improvements across the board” given that there have been ban waves rolling out to take down hackers. “Man, I really do hope that we see a day somewhere down the line where Activision invests into their game, they’re a multi-billion dollar company, they gotta have a little jing-a-ling laying around to do what they need to do to get this job done,” Nick added. “I hope we see that day. Do I think we’re going to? Absolutely not. Why? I have no idea. It can’t be that expensive, but apparently, it is.” As noted, some steps have been taken to address the cheating issues, but when one cheater is taken down, a few appear in their place. A better anti-cheat would no doubt curb some of the issues, but that would take some time to implement. We’ll just have to wait and see if anything further happens.

NICKMERCS claims Warzone devs “don’t care” because it makes so much money – Dexerto
NICKMERCS claims Warzone devs “don’t care” because it makes so much money NICKMERCSThe cheating problem is Warzone continues to ruin every aspect of the game, so both NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman sat down to discuss the current state of the BR title. Warzone continues to be ruined by the ongoing hacking issue, which has caused many players and Call of Duty content creators to stop playing the game altogether. One of those players is popular streamer Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff, who recently quit the game in favor of Apex Legends. Nick’s departure from Warzone certainly came as a surprise to many of his fans, but it was a decision that was not taken lightly. TimTheTatman is another streamer who also shares Nick’s concerns over the current state of the game. In fact, both Nick and Tim recently sat down to discuss everything from Warzone’s cheating problem, pro tournaments, content creation, and the jump to Apex Legends. Nick and Tim on the state of Warzone Despite Activision shutting down various cheat websites, the number of hackers playing the game continues to rise. The problem has reached breaking point in Season 4 and with no signs of a fix in sight, Warzone content creators are voicing their concerns over the future of the battle royale title. “I hate that I love this game, I really do. It looks like they don’t care, right?” explained Tim. However, Nick wasn’t going to pull his punches on the subject matter. “I don’t think you can say that,” replied Nick. “It looks like, no it is just is that. I’m not trying to be too much of a d*ck about it, but at the end of the day, with the kind of bread they’re bringing in – those issues shouldn’t be a thing. Where’s the Tweet? Where’s the communication we talked about?” While Raven Software and Activision have stepped up their communication regarding weapon balancing and wider bug fixes, the developers have remained eerily quiet on the hacking issue. This is in direct contrast to other BR titles like Apex Legends, which constantly has developers interacting with their playerbase. If things weren’t bad enough, the hacking problem has also made its way into the tournament scene. “Every single tournament, I died to a f**king hacker and it just sucked it right out of me man. I got so mad, I was off-stream pacing. Like, I can’t do it. I’m too competitive, it f*cks with everything about me,” said Nick. Casual games are also a no-go for Nick as every lobby is now filled with players using aimbots, wallhacks, and other game-breaking exploits. While both Nick and Tim have seen success switching over to Apex Legends, there are a lot of CoD only content creators that don’t have that luxury. “I really feel for people that make their earnings off of tournaments and stuff like that,” says Tim. “I’m just like a content creator, right? I’ll play in tournaments and I’ll have fun, but ultimately, that’s not the thing I’m really counting on.” Whether both Nick and Tim will stream the new Warzone Season 5 update remains to be seen, but for now, both players clearly aren’t happy with the current state of the game. In the meantime, expect plenty of Apex streams until Activision improves Warzone’s lackluster anti-cheat.

NICKMERCS claims Warzone 2 Ranked Play came “too late” to save the game – Dexerto
NICKMERCS claims Warzone 2 Ranked Play came “too late” to save the game NICKMERCS/ActivisionNICKMERCS praised Warzone 2 Ranked Play’s system but explained how the mode could have altered the franchise’s trajectory if it came earlier. Warzone 2 Ranked Play generally received positive reviews from community members when the game mode launched in Season 3 Reloaded. However, a strong first impression didn’t equate to a boost of active players. Over the month of May, Warzone 2’s peak player count only reached a tick over 104,000 players. When the battle royale sequel first launched, it peaked at over 488,000. These numbers only apply to Steam and not every other platform, but the figures still present a small glimpse at a large problem. NICKMERCS believes Warzone 2 would have enjoyed more momentum and success if the battle royale added Ranked Play earlier. Why Warzone needed Ranked Play earlier In October 2021, NICKMERCS claimed Warzone “can’t survive” without a ranked mode. He cited other content creators jumping ship to play Apex Legends because the game had a ranked mode. Ironically, The Leader of the MFAM Army would eventually abandon Warzone for Apex Legends, as well. A chat member on stream joked that Nick wouldn’t have even become a professional Apex player if Ranked Play existed during WZ1. Nick still spends most of his time on Apex, but he returned to Warzone 2 for the launch of Ranked Play and has enjoyed it. After working all the way up to Crimson, NICKMERCS explained why the mode has a strong format. “It’s a good ranked system, I really like it. I hope they don’t make it easier because I like the challenge.” Warzone 2’s addicting Ranked Play system made Nick think about what it would have been like if the same game mode launched during WZ1. “Imagine we had a Ranked Mode in Warzone 1; I keep thinking about it.” This s**t in Verdansk would have hit differently. It’s hitting different as is, and I am on the new one.” Nick argued Warzone would have been even more popular during its peak, and there would have been no way for someone to convince him to play another game. Seeing how much fun NICKMERCS is having with Warzone 2 Ranked Play really makes you think how much the franchise’s fortunes could have changed if Activision released the mode sooner.

NICKMERCS claims Warzone 2 Rank Play is a “big step in the right direction” – Dexerto
NICKMERCS claims Warzone 2 Rank Play is a “big step in the right direction” NICKMERCS/ActivisionNICKMERCS spent a day playing Ranked Play in Warzone 2 and walked away with a very strong first impression. Season 3 Reloaded marked the beginning of Ranked Play in Warzone 2. The long-awaited competitive game mode features a comprehensive skill rating system and seven divisions for players to work their way through. The ultimate goal of the game mode is to earn a place in the coveted Top 250, which honors the best of the best. Just as MW2 Ranked Play accomplished, the Battle Royale sequel’s iteration reinvigorated interest. Content creators, professionals, and casual players embarked on a race to reach the Top 250 first. And a few dedicated competitors, such as JoeWo, reached the mountaintop. Nick couldn’t resist joining the competition and was pleasantly surprised. NICKMERCS shares first impression of Warzone 2 Ranked Play NICKMERCS took a break from the Apex Legends ALGS grind to hop back on Warzone 2. There was a little bit of an extra incentive as Nick and TimTheTatman became the first two content creators to receive an Operator skin in Warzone history. While wearing his MFAM operator skin, Nick shredded through Ranked Play lobbies and shared his first impression. “I don’t hate Call of Duty at all. I think it’s sick that I’m in the game, and I love that they added this whole playlist.” “This is what they needed. If they can just expand on this, I would like to dabble a little bit, man.” Nick explained why Ranked Play is so important for the COD community. “This is definitely a big step in the right direction for Call of Duty. I don’t think anyone would disagree with that. They have a lot to do. The community has not been happy for a while. However, this is a big day for them.” The leader of the MFAM Army claimed that Apex Legends could learn from how Warzone 2 collaborated with content creators. “I think content creators need to be involved a little bit more, professional esports organizations need to be compensated better, and they need to tap into that whole area better if they can.” Only time will tell how long the hype train keeps chugging along for Warzone 2 Ranked Play, but it made a strong first impression.

NICKMERCS claims unreleased Warzone SMG CX-9 will be the best gun in the game – Dexerto
NICKMERCS claims unreleased Warzone SMG CX-9 will be the best gun in the game YouTube: NICKMERCS/ActivisionYouTube and Twitch star Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has explained why he’s “nervous” about the CX-9 SMG, which is currently only available as the Serac Blueprint, being released to a wider range of Warzone players. With the start of Warzone Season 2, Raven Software added a good bit of new content. To go alongside the seasonal battle pass and map changes, new weapons were also introduced – LC10 and FARA 83. On top of those two, players have also uncovered two other, not yet released weapons in-game – the RAAL and CX-9. These two, an LMG and SMG, are found inside orange loot crates in the form of the Rook and Serac blueprints. Both weapons have proven to be pretty deadly already, and after NICKMERCS finally got his hands on the SMG, he’s voiced his concerns about just how meta it could be when it releases to everyone. During a session of Warzone his usual squad – TimTheTatMan, Cloakzy, and SypherPK – Nick managed to get the SMG from inside one of the orange loot crates. “I only got to use it for about half the game, but you see why it’s so hard to pull. This thing is incredible,” Nick said. “This thing beams, it beams at any range, it’s got a crazy TTK [Time to Kill], it’s got to be off the charts. “I’m excited for this gun to drop into Warzone but then again, I’m kind of nervous. If it’s anything like how it is right now, it’s all you’re going to see on the map man.” As the different Warzone updates have shown, once a meta is established, players will change up their loadouts and classes in order to have the best chance at picking up wins. However, given the SMG has been used by players, Raven might have some useful data on it to figure out what changes need to be made before it actually releases. So, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

NICKMERCS claims there’s a new best AR in Warzone Season 5 – Dexerto
NICKMERCS claims there’s a new best AR in Warzone Season 5 ActivisionNick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has unveiled his assault rifle of choice in Warzone Season 5 as the CR-56 AMAX, and he’s fine-tuned the perfect loadout to get the most out of the heavy-hitting weapon. Following the August 11 patch, Warzone’s weapon meta was shaken substantially. For the majority of Season 4, the Bruen and FAL dominated. But after the Bruen’s damage at range was reduced, plenty have been looking for the new hot weapon to use. While both the M4A1 and Grau 5.56 are still staple weapons in most players’ loadouts, they’re not as heavy-hitting as the likes of the RAM-7 — which, according to Kolcheff, boasts the highest time-to-kill of all weapons in the game. But in terms of statistics, Season 4’s CR-56 AMAX is one of the only weapons that can pack just as heavy of a punch. So naturally, NICKMERCS has devised the perfect class to help you get the most out of the assault rifle affectionately referred to as the Galil. NICKMERC’s CR-56 AMAX loadout for Warzone As with most assault rifle loadouts, Nick pairs an extended magazine with a more magnified optic to ensure that he can ping from enemy to enemy at distance without needing to reload. To improve his accuracy at range, the Warzone aficionado opts for the Monolithic Suppressor and Merc Foregrip to tame the weapon’s relatively high kick. Nick then adds the Merc Foregrip —as opposed to the less nimble Ranger Foregrip— to reduce weapon sway while aiming down sight. Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor. – Barrel: XRK Zodiac S440. – Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic. – Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip. – Ammunition: 45 Round Mags. – As soon as Kolcheff and co. manage to snag a loadout, he wreaks havoc on enemies, with the AMAX shredding in both long and medium-range gunfights. To back up the lethal rifle, Nick has an MP5 in his pocket to ensure that he can be versatile when an engagement is up close and personal. If you’re looking for the best perks to complement NICKMERCS’ loadout, then check out our extensive perk guide for Warzone to help you get the edge in Verdansk.

NICKMERCS claims new Fortune’s Keep map in Warzone is already better than Caldera – Dexerto
NICKMERCS claims new Fortune’s Keep map in Warzone is already better than Caldera YouTube: NICKMERCS / ActivisionMonths after parting ways with the Call of Duty battle royale, Twitch star NICKMERCS just made his return to Warzone amid the Season 4 update and instantly took a liking to the new Fortune’s Keep map, quickly labeling it a cut above Caldera. Despite being one of the faces of the Warzone scene during its peak, NICKMERCS has mostly steered clear of the CoD BR since its jump to the Pacific at the tail end of 2021. Outside of a few brief stints and rapid rage quits, the MFAM leader has instead spent his time climbing the ranks on Apex Legends in recent months. That all changed on June 22 when the popular streamer finally dropped back into Warzone once more to explore the Season 4 content drop. Diving head-first into the new Fortune’s Keep map, it was only a matter of time until NICKMERCS felt that spark once again and “actually [had] fun” the way he “used to” in Warzone. “I’m back,” NICKMERCS joked in the lobby screen just seconds after winning his first game on the new map with 12 kills in total. Almost immediately, the streamer had found his footing and returned to his old ways with some familiar faces in TimTheTatman and Cloakzy. Contributing to the positive vibes was the sunny backdrop of Fortune’s Keep which he quickly warmed up to. Thanks to its “dynamic” layout, vibrant “Italian theme”, and even some “parkour potential”, Nick took a liking to the fresh map. “This new map’s way better than the old one,” he said. “I love the new map. On a 1-10 [rating]? I give it like an eight or a nine. I really enjoy it.” Whether it’ll be enough to get Warzone back in his daily rotation on Twitch, remains to be seen. But Fortune’s Keep is definitely off to a strong start in his eyes. “That sh*t was actually fun man,” NICKMERCS said after a five-hour session with Warzone, his longest in almost as many months. “That’s how it used to go for us.” With Warzone 2 also piquing his interest for a bigger return later this year, perhaps Fortune’s Keep is just the start of a rebound for the once-flourishing CoD BR.

NICKMERCS claims Modern Warfare MP5 is “broken” in Warzone: Best MP5 loadout – Dexerto
NICKMERCS claims Modern Warfare MP5 is “broken” in Warzone: Best MP5 loadout YouTube: NICKMERCS/Raven SoftwareCall of Duty Twitch streamer and content creator Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has unveiled his deadly Warzone loadout for the Modern Warfare MP5. Here are the attachments you need to equip to replicate his build. Picking a weapon to use in Warzone Season 3 can be a challenge with so many powerful guns to choose from. While the clear top-tier picks are the Kilo and the AMAX, a lot of players are looking for an SMG to dominate at close quarters. Although the best option may seem like the reliable MAC-10, NICKMERCS has suggested players go for the Modern Warfare MP5. This old-school weapon has been around this the start of Warzone and used to dominate the meta back in 2020. Well, the fast-paced SMG is making a comeback in the Season 3 and Nick has got the perfect loadout to help you dominate with the gun. NICKMERCS’ Modern Warfare MP5 Warzone class Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor – Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip – Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape – Stock: FTAC Collapsible – Ammunition: 45 Rnd Mags – The goal of Nick’s MW MP5 loadout is to make an aggressive class that minimizes recoil and allows you to close the distance on your opponents. For starters, the Merc Foregrip and the Stippled Grip Tape work together to bolster the weapon’s recoil and improve ADS time. This will ensure you always get the first shot off on your enemy and hopefully, come out on top in the gunfight. Read More: How to watch Warzone Season 4 reveal – Next, don’t forget to run the Monolithic Suppressor as it significantly increases the MP5’s damage range, giving you the ability to gun enemies down from a distance. On top of this, it offers sound suppression which is key on Verdansk to remain undetected heading into the final circle. Finally, Nick rounds off the loadout with the FTAC Collapsible to reduce the weapon’s ADS time further, and the 45 Rnd Mag so you can wipe out multiple enemies in a single clip. So, there you have it, that’s Nick’s Modern Warfare MP5 loadout for Warzone. Give the class setup a try in one of your games and see if you think the old-school SMG has the power to compete with the Bullfrog and the Mac-10.

NICKMERCS claims buffed Swiss K31 loadout beats Kar98k as best Warzone sniper – Dexerto
NICKMERCS claims buffed Swiss K31 loadout beats Kar98k as best Warzone sniper YouTube / NICKMERCSWarzone’s Season 3 Reloaded update introduced plenty of balancing changes, and content creator Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has discovered a buffed Swiss K31 loadout that he believes can replace the Kar98k as the BR’s best sniper. The mid-season update for Call of Duty: Warzone — otherwise known as Season 3 Reloaded — introduced a literal flood of new content into Verdansk and Rebirth Island. In addition to map changes and new weapons, the content drop also included another sizeable balancing pass from Raven Software, including some highly anticipated changes to sniper rifles and their functionality. Several snipers received notable buffs in the patch, including the previously underwhelming Swiss K31. Now, powerhouse Warzone streamer NICKMERCS has shared a new Swiss K31 loadout that he believes will replace the (formerly) undisputed king of sniper rifles in Verdansk. NICKMERCS’ Swiss K31 Warzone loadout Here’s a breakdown of NICKMERCS’ new Swiss K31 class that he believes can dethrone the Kar98k: Muzzle: GRU Suppressor – Barrel: 24.9″ Combat Recon – Laser: SWAT 5mw Laser Sight – Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip – Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap – The streamer’s loadout includes attachments that further buff the sniper’s damage output, range, ADS speed and overall movement quickness. The GRU Suppressor improves a host of weapon stats, in particular bullet velocity and damage range. The 24.9″ Combat Recon barrel further boosts the gun’s bullet velocity, helping to make sure you can hit all of your long-range shots with a sniper at the precise moment you mean to — a critical piece of being an effective sniper at long distances. The other attachments in Kolcheff’s loadout all help to improve your ADS speed and mobility. Both the SWAT 5mw Laser Sight and Serpent Wrap cut down the time it takes to ADS with the weapon, making sure you can zoom in and engage at a moment’s notice. Finally, the Bruiser Grip helps to improve your overall movement speed, making sure you can quickly sprint between cover or quickly escape from a lopsided sniper duel, or if an opponent gets the drop on you at close range and forces you to reposition. It seems NICKMERCS has found a weapon that could finally break the Kar98k’s grip on the sniper meta. While your trusty Kar won’t fail you anytime soon, it’s definitely worth taking the Swiss K31 out for a spin to see what all the hype is about after the Season 3 Reloaded update.

NICKMERCS claims “Bruen is back” with new Warzone loadout – Dexerto
NICKMERCS claims “Bruen is back” with new Warzone loadout Activision / YouTube: NICKMERCSPopular Twitch streamer Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has officially declared that the Bruen Mk9 LMG is “back” in Warzone, revealing his loadout for the gun to replace popular assault rifles like the Kilo or M13. [jwplayer Q7ySHZq9] Introduced in Season 3, the Bruen MK9 light machine gun was just about everyone’s choice of primary weapon in the early days of Warzone. Players were grinding the multiplayer, throwing down smoke grenades and trying to pick up kills to unlock the gun. In recent months, though, the Bruen has fallen out of favor, with players instead opting for increased magazines in low-recoil assault rifles such as the Grau, M13 or Kilo 141. That said, the Bruen could be enjoying somewhat of a resurgence, with NICKMERCS showing off his new build for the weapon which, paired with an R9 Dragon’s Breath shotgun, could easily be used to dominate in Verdansk. The Warzone meta has changed a lot since the Bruen was popular, so Nick has had to cater his loadout to said changes, making a few alterations to the loadout he was using back in June. Here’s the class setup Nick thinks could bring the Bruen back into the Warzone meta: Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor – Barrel: XKR Summit 26.8” – Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic – Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip – Ammunition: 60 Round Mags – For the most part, this Bruen loadout appeals to what made assault rifles more popular in recent months. The VLK optic has become a must-have for any medium to long-range engagement, while sticking an underbarrel on there reduces the gun’s recoil even further, while still having the power of an LMG at your disposal. Now that Nick has proclaimed it, and shown off his class, you can probably expect to see an upsurge of players giving it a shot themselves. If you’re looking to switch from the Kilo to something different, it might be worth testing out the Bruen once again, because it’s still an incredible gun and more than capable of guiding you to wins.

NICKMERCS claims attachment tuning “overcomplicated” Warzone 2 – Dexerto
NICKMERCS claims attachment tuning “overcomplicated” Warzone 2 NICKMERCS/ActivisionNICKMERCS explained why Warzone 2’s introduction of attachment tuning was unnecessary. Modern Warfare 2 added an extra layer of customization to the gunsmith with attachment tuning. The feature allows players to tailor attachments specifically for different playstyles. For example, while editing an under-barrel attachment, you can focus more on recoil stabilization or aim down-sight speed. As community members became more accustomed to the system, players discovered a right and wrong way to utilize it. Every attachment has a different sweet spot, and it’s up to the player to maximize a weapon’s potential. Attachment tuning succeeded in creating endless ways to customize a loadout, but NICKMERCS argued the feature doesn’t have a place in the battle royale sequel. NICKMERCS calls for a return to basics in Warzone 2 During a live stream on January 25, NICKMERCS shared his feelings on Warzone 2’s attachment system. “I really do miss the days when you could just add four attachments or three attachments to a gun.” Nick added, “All of the best shooters in the history of gaming, for the most part, didn’t have any customization like that.” If you compare Warzone 2 to Apex Legends or Fortnite, the difference in customization options is shocking. For Apex, players loot individual attachments with varying levels of rarity, and in Fortnite, there are different rarities for weapons but no attachments. WZ2 allows players to equip five different attachments at a time for eight possible attachment slots. And on top of that, most attachments can be tuned. “Not everything has to be Tarkov. Look at Halo or Gears of War,” Nick argued. “You don’t need to customize a million things.” Nick concluded by arguing Warzone 2 would benefit from returning to basics and keeping systems simpler, which makes it easier for new players to pick up the game and play.

NICKMERCS calls Warzone “shambles” and roasts devs over anti-cheat – Dexerto
NICKMERCS calls Warzone “shambles” and roasts devs over anti-cheat Twitch: NICKMERCS / Raven SoftwareNick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff was one of Warzone’s most popular streamers before leaving the game behind for Apex Legends but the star streamer is once again airing his grievances with the game. There are not many people in the world who have played more matches of Warzone than NICKMERCS, so when he speaks up about the game, fans tend to listen. In signature fashion, his latest tirade about the game was brutally honest and takes aim at the two most-hyped features of the Warzone Pacific era. NICKMERCS roasts Warzone’s anti-cheat system It’s no secret that the former grinder has fallen out with the game since the switch from Verdansk ’84 to Caldera, but in a new Twitter exchange, Nick didn’t hold back his feelings at all. He specifically took aim at the switch from Verdansk to Caldera as well as the rollout of Ricochet, Call of Duty’s anti-cheat system. He said: “The new map missed. The WW2 wrap is and always has been trash, & the Anticheat was some April fools s**t for likes & retweets.” Bro you cannot look me in my eyes & tell me the game is not SHAMBLES. The new map missed. The WW2 wrap is and always has been.. trash. & the Anticheat was some April fools shit for likes & RT’s. Verdansk was gold tho. Great times. — FaZe Nickmercs (@NICKMERCS) April 22, 2022 The streamer isn’t alone in those feelings either. Fans from around the community have been calling for a big changeup to the game for months, but outside of the upcoming map changes for the Godzilla vs. Kong event, there’s been no indication from Raven Software that they’ll get their wish. For now, it looks like Nick will be sticking it out in Apex Legends, where he’s currently attempting a run in the pro scene alongside Deeds and Lewda.

NICKMERCS calls out Call of Duty scene amid Vanguard hacking scandal – Dexerto
NICKMERCS calls out Call of Duty scene amid Vanguard hacking scandal Twitch: NICKMERCSNICKMERCS has had his say on the state of the Call of Duty scene, after hacking accusations ran rampant in an online tournament featuring OpTic, LA Thieves and more. Before NICKMERCS was one of the biggest streamers in the world, he made his name by grinding SnD tournaments with his friends, facing off against some of the best in the world. While Nick has never made his disdain for the scene a secret, with the accusations that came out in this tournament, he let his feelings be known again. With some choice names for the Search and Destroy grinders, and a shout out to the “real ones,” Nick advised anyone looking to make it to “steer clear” of the scene entirely. “The CoD SnD community… By far the worst group I’ve ever been a part of,” he said, opening a series of tweets that definitely shed the scene in a poor light. “Home to some of the dirtiest little creatures on the internet,” he continued. “Cheaters, booters, hackers – Anything for a buck.” He then advised his followers to “steer clear.” The CoD SnD community… By far the worst group I’ve ever been apart of. Home to some of the dirtiest little creatures on the internet. Cheaters, booters, hackers – Anything for a buck. Steer clear lads! 🐀🧀 — FaZe Nickmercs (@NICKMERCS) November 8, 2021 It wasn’t long before LA Guerrillas CDL star Austin ‘SlasheR’ Liddicoat responded, saying that the “sad thing is its somehow worse than when you were grinding.” “I’ll never forget & forever appreciate the real ones,” Nick responded. “But honestly they were just heavy outnumbered by all the losers. People getting shot over a 2.50. My family in handcuffs over weekly swats. Lag switchers, faker proofs, host f**ks. Never again.” Nah legendary times, and I’ll never forget & forever appreciate the real ones. But honestly they were just heavy outnumbered by all the losers. People gettin shot over a 2.50. My family in handcuffs over weekly swats. Lag switchers, faker proofs, host fucks. Never again — FaZe Nickmercs (@NICKMERCS) November 8, 2021 Long-time fans of NICKMERCS can safely rule out a return to the “dirty” world of Search and Destroy grinding, but by the sounds of it, he’s not too upset about that. This isn’t the first time Nick has called out Call of Duty players, and has taken aim at some of the best out there in the past. In 2018, he went on a rant about two-time CoD world champion Tyler ‘aBeZy’ Pharris, calling him a “f**king a**hole” and a “pr*ck.” Safe to say, there’s no love lost between Nick and the CoD community.

NICKMERCS calls on Warzone devs to make better map changes and more POIs – Dexerto
NICKMERCS calls on Warzone devs to make better map changes and more POIs Activision / NICKMERCS (YouTube)Warzone’s Season 3 Reloaded update added several new POIs to the game, but Call of Duty content creator Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff wants to see even more POIs and map changes in the future. The Season 3 Reloaded update brought with it plenty of new content for fans to sink their teeth into. While the new AMP63 and the Power Grab LTM have proven popular among players, one of the biggest changes has been the addition of Nakatomi Plaza. This massive skyscraper stands 490 feet tall and has replaced the Broadcast Tower in Downtown, giving Die Hard fans a new hotspot to duke it out when they drop into Downtown. Unlike other battle royale titles, Warzone’s Verdansk hasn’t changed all that much since its release. In fact, even the introduction of Verdansk 84 featured very few impactful differences from the original. While Rebirth Island may have helped alleviate the lack of new content, many players had hoped that a completely new map would have been brought to the game. As always, Nick has given his honest opinion on this much-requested addition. Following on from the recent leak that revealed the unreleased Warzone Ural Mountains map, many players have been questioning why Activision has yet to release a completely new map. After all, plenty of other successful battle royale games feature multiple battlegrounds for players to drop into. “The biggest issue with the brand new map is if they put something out and they swing and miss, that’s bad, that’s horrible,” says Nick. “We’ve seen other games do this, it could ruin the game completely.” The Call of Duty streamer has a right to be concerned, especially given how slow the developers have been to fix issues that have plagued Warzone since release. Timestamp of 0:35 There’s obviously less risk involved when adding in new POIs and features to Verdansk, but these changes have often been very small. This is particularly true when compared to the likes of Fortnite and Apex Legends. “In my opinion, I really like the addition of the Die Hard plaza. I thought it was great, I loved the Specialist and the vault. If they keep doing things like that, I’m in,” says Nick. Not only do larger POI changes like Nakatomi Plaza give players exciting content to look forward to, but they also help Verdansk become a living breathing place that constantly evolves along with the playerbase. “If [the map changes] are few and far between and we have to wait weeks, and weeks, and months on end — for one building and a vault, I’m not on board for all that. I’m already programmed, I’m impatient.” The map changes have certainly been slow to roll out, but Nick hopes that future POIs will be as significant as Nakatomi Plaza.

NICKMERCS calls for Warzone weapon changes to combat “broken” AUG meta – Dexerto
NICKMERCS calls for Warzone weapon changes to combat “broken” AUG meta YouTube: NICKMERCS/ActivisionStreaming star Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff wants the Warzone developers to make regular weapon changes given that the AUG meta is broken, even though he was at the forefront of wanting a powerful burst weapon. Ever since Warzone launched over a year ago, the meta has been constantly changing. First off, it was all about snipers with thermal scopes, and now it’s become about SMGs and burst rifles. At the forefront of the current meta is the Cold War AUG. A burst rifle that does ridiculous damage at any range, and is pretty unstoppable. Plenty of players wanted a burst rifle meta, given weapons like the M16 had been lacking previously. However, NICKMERCS, who was one to call for the burst buffs, wants changes. NICKMERCS wants more regular Warzone weapon updates During his March 21 video, the FaZe Clan star discussed the issues with the game’s current meta and noted that he, and other streamers, did call for it at first. Yet, it’s gone too far. “This is an ongoing, broken issue that happens in all games man. There’s a gun to use, there’s a meta where something takes over the game and everybody uses it, and once everybody caught up, the game is just a lot harder to play than it once was,” Nick said. “I did kind of want this,” the streamer added, noting his constant calls for a burst meta. “Here’s the difference, I want it, I just don’t want it for four/five months. I think they need to get to a point where they’re pushing out updates for weapons. There are so many weapons in the game where they can buff things and nerf things at a much faster pace to give the game some more flow.” Timestamp of 0:10 Nick noted that when it gets stuck, the meta doesn’t change for months and can make things boring for some players, turning them away from Warzone. “What’s up this months? A couple of weeks will suffice. That’s all I’m saying man. Let’s get a move on here,” he added. It remains to be seen if more constant weapon tuning will be coming from Raven, or if they’ll keep chugging along as they currently are. Warzone Season 3 should bring about some changes, but they’ll be in one go rather than over time like Nick wants. But, we’ll have to wait and see.

NICKMERCS calls for Warzone to copy Apex Legends as fans demand Verdansk return – Dexerto
NICKMERCS calls for Warzone to copy Apex Legends as fans demand Verdansk return ActivisionWarzone players have once again been calling for original map Verdansk to return to the game, and NICKMERCS believes that the devs should take a leaf out of Apex Legend’s book. With Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 expected to drop later this year, fans have been urging Raven Software to bring back the beloved Verdansk map for one last go around. Ever since the battle royale made the move to Caldera after the launch of Vanguard, players have failed to fall in love with the Pacific map in the same way as the original. Now that the first Warzone is entering its latter stages, many feel it would be the perfect time to return to Verdansk. One of these supporters is streaming star NICKMERCS who believes that “Apex does is right” when it comes to map selection. NICKMERCS wants Warzone to rotate maps like Apex Legends During a recent video, NICKMERCS spotted that Verdansk is trending as players have been calling for Raven to bring it back. Nick agreed that letting fans drop back into the OG map would be a smart move for the series. “Anybody who says it wouldn’t bring some hype to the game for a little bit before MW2 is crazy,” Nick said in his video. “Who in here would be mad if they put the old map back? What’s wrong with that?” He was chatting onstream to FaZe Booya, who agreed that returning to Verdansk would be a good decision for Warzone, and brought up the idea of a rotation system with Caldera. “Listen bro, Apex does it right,” NICKMERCS replied. “The fact that they have new maps come out and they put them in a spin or rotation – that’s fire.” Booya then asked if Respawn’s approach to its map helps keep things fresh within the game, to which Nick replied: “Yeah, I mean why do all that work and make that map and then just have it go away forever?” Apex Legends currently has four different battle royale maps included in the game, which switch out every 60-90 minutes. This lets players enjoy a handful of matches on one map before the game automatically changes up the pace. Warzone has flirted with the idea in the past, as Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep were part of a rotation at the end of Season 4. As calls for Verdansk’s return grow stronger, we’ll have to wait and see if Warzone will have multiple main maps in Season 5 or beyond.

NICKMERCS calls for more Warzone 2 LAN events to expose “weird” cheaters – Dexerto
NICKMERCS calls for more Warzone 2 LAN events to expose “weird” cheaters NICKMERCS/ActivisionStreaming star Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff wants Call of Duty to run a few Warzone 2 LAN events to weed out cheaters and “weird” behavior. Even though other battle royales have taken off with regular competitive events, Warzone hasn’t quite matched its rivals. Members of the community, and the Call of Duty devs, have held a number of tournaments over the last few years, but there isn’t a fully-fledged league like the others. In the case of Warzone 2, even though it’s been out for a few months, there haven’t been too many big events. That comes as a surprise to NICKMERCS, who is eager to see more Warzone events being held, especially those that can expose anyone who is cheating and their “weird” behavior. NICKMERCS wants more Warzone 2 events to expose “weird” cheaters It was something the FaZe Clan star flagged in his February 22 video, as he noted that he was “surprised” by the lack of in-person tournaments for Warzone 2. “I’m surprised Call of Duty didn’t launch a bunch of events in person and battle royale tournaments. They could have it coincide with the CDL, they do like in-person battle royale tournaments. You’d have to qualify for it, or you can make it invite-only if you want, but I’m surprised they didn’t do that,” Nick said. “Too many cheaters? That’s why you do it on LAN, they can’t cheat. You can’t do online, I agree with you. There is too many scammers and cheaters and weird people. At the end of the day, there is a lot of content around that, like people that are popular to be cheating, people think they’re cheating, you find out real quick if they’re full of s*it or not. I think that could work, but any kind of competitive online in this game is real stinky.” Timestamp of 11:24 Nick also added that more in-person events are needed because of the “weird” behavior in the community, and that’d be sure to weed a lot of it out. Even the World Series of Warzone, which has been the biggest Warzone event to date, was held online, so it remains to be seen if there are plans to take it to LAN.

NICKMERCS calls for fire shotguns to be removed from Warzone completely – Dexerto
NICKMERCS calls for fire shotguns to be removed from Warzone completely Nickmercs / ActivisionPopular content creator Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has called for the dragon’s breath fire shotgun attachment to be totally removed in the next Warzone season. Despite initial delays, Warzone will soon be integrated with Black Ops Cold War, which will unlock a whole new arsenal of weapons for players to choose between in the battle royale mode. While Warzone’s weapon meta has changed quite a bit since its release on March 10, the fire shotgun attachment has been extremely overpowered in Season 6, with the likes of the R-90 becoming a popular choice in recent months. The shotgun’s high fire rate and lasting damage can be incredibly difficult to deal with up-close, and now many players, including Twitch star NICKMERCS, have called for changes to be made to the ammunition type. In his latest video, Nickmercs took a moment to address the issues with the weapon class in Warzone and even called upon Infinity Ward devs to make some changes ahead of Cold War’s Season One. “The hope is that a lot of these guns in Warzone right now are going to get nerfed,” he explained, pointing out the semi-auto shotgun in particular, “the big hope is the R90 goes bye-bye!” But NICKMERCS claimed that a nerf would not even be enough to fix the issue, adding, “It can’t just be an R9 nerf, they nerf the R9 and everyone goes back to the Origin. It needs to be a dragon breath nerf: take it out.” “Shotguns are already something else, you put a little fire on every shell and it turns into a whole nother thing,” the content creator revealed. As of now, it is unclear if Infinity Ward has any intentions of removing the dragon’s breath attachment or even nerfing the ammunition type ahead of Cold War’s Season One. While no changes have been confirmed, the new Cold War weapons, which are expected to be added on December 16, could be enough to shake up the meta in Warzone.

NICKMERCS MW2 & Warzone 2 bundle: Release date, how to purchase & included content – Dexerto
NICKMERCS MW2 & Warzone 2 bundle: Release date, how to purchase & included content ActivsionThe NICKMERCS bundle is here in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. Here is everything you need to know about the new bundle and how to get your hands on it. When it comes to Call of Duty, one of the ways that players are able to customize their loadout and appearance is through new skins and collectibles. NICKMERCS explains why Caldera won’t change his mind on Warzone being “done” – Dexerto
NICKMERCS explains why Caldera won’t change his mind on Warzone being “done” Twitch: NICKMERCS / Raven SoftwareNick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff admits he has no plans to return to Warzone permanently, declaring he’s “done” with the game despite this week’s Caldera update finally giving Call of Duty’s battle royale a long-waited makeover. Twitch fans have been begging NICKMERCS to return to Warzone for months now, after he abandoned the Call of Duty battle royale for Apex Legends. That wait, it seems, will continue on indefinitely. NICKMERCS is returning to Warzone this week, but has confirmed it’s only a short-term comeback. The Twitch star has made it very clear he thinks the Call of Duty battle royale is “done,” and won’t roll back his decision to jump ship for the franchise’s arch-rival, Apex Legends. “Listen, I don’t want anyone to get mad, but I’m going back to Call of Duty again, and I want to make my intentions clear,” he explained. “I have big plans for Apex Legends. I’m just playing Warzone this week.” Caldera — Warzone’s new Vanguard map — may be luring Kolcheff back, but he’s made it clear it’s an “in-and-out” return, not a permanent stay. “I do want to go back and play Call of Duty again. I miss playing with Cloakzy and Tim, all those guys, and it’s really fun playing CoD in general too,” NICKMERCS said. “It’s a great game. The cheating’s out of control, that’s a big issue, yeah, but in general, Warzone is a beautiful game. I’m really excited for the island map [Caldera] and I really, really want to go try it. So I’m going to go do that. It doesn’t mean I’m not done with it beyond that though. “I’m going to play some Warzone, yes, for a couple of days. Don’t think for a moment that means I’m going back to play CoD though, every day. That’s not what it’s going to be. There’s too many issues there for that to last. “I want to be very transparent, before we open doors back to Call of Duty. I’m going to play what I want to, what I’m actually f**king into. And that’s not Warzone.” NICKMERCS then turned his attention to his Twitch fanbase, and their near-constant demands for him to go back to Verdansk in the half a year since he quit. “It’s crazy man, motherf**kers don’t want you to play what you want to enjoy anymore,” Twitch’s superstar streamer said. “If you pop off on a game, they expect you to play that game, just that game, for the rest of time. “It’s such an odd thing about gaming communities. “I used to be all Warzone, yes, and we all know that. But that game, I think, is done. I also used to be all Fortnite too, and all Gears of War before that. Heck, before that it was Uno and Monopoly,” he continued, laughing. “There’s been so many chapters to this stream, I don’t know how y’all think it goes. “You can’t stay in eighth grade forever, you have to graduate. I don’t plan on returning to Warzone. I don’t want to play one game for the rest of my life.” Related segment begins at 2:07 in the video below. The biggest argument against NICKMERCS sticking with Apex Legends long-term and avoiding Warzone has been that his Twitch numbers would take a hit. The 31-year-old says none of that matters to him. “I’ve always been a guy that, I don’t live and die by my numbers, but I’m proud of my numbers. Some people don’t give a f**k. I definitely care… When Warzone was at its max, viewership was crazy for everybody, not just me. We were hitting 80,000 viewers playing pubs with Tim. 80k was a normal Tuesday. “Apex is just point blank not as popular [as Warzone]. It’s not as big as Call of Duty,” he added. “And so, viewership may be down, yes, but we’re still crushing it.”

NICKMERCS breaks silence on CoD removing his skin for controversial Pride comment – Dexerto
NICKMERCS breaks silence on CoD removing his skin for controversial Pride comment ActivisionFaZe NICKMERCS has finally responded to Activision removing his Call of Duty operator skin bundle from Warzone and MW2 stores over controversial comments he made about Pride Month in schools. The CoD community was rocked on June 8 when NICKMERCS’ operator skin was pulled from the store after he made a remark about “leaving little children alone” in reference to Pride Month being recognized in schools a day earlier. It didn’t take long for the backlash to pour in, with many fans of NICKMERCS uninstalling Call of Duty – including fellow streamer Dr Disrespect, who demanded the company either apologize or add his bundle back to the shop. Now, nearly a day after his skin was removed, NICKMERCS has broken his silence and is standing by his comments, once again refusing to bend the knee and apologize. NICKMERCS responds to CoD removing his operator skin In a post on Twitter, the FaZe Clan star said that he appreciates the support he has been receiving while once again arguing that his comments were not meant to be hateful. “Friends are created in good times, but families are built through adversity. Appreciate all of you that have my back, understand my position as a new father and recognize the love I have for all,” he said. “Ain’t no hate in this heart.” It’s not known if he is currently trying to get his skin added back to CoD or when he will stream again, but the Twitch icon hasn’t yet gone live since his bundle was removed. Call of Duty, meanwhile, hasn’t commented further on the bundle since first replying to a CharlieIntel report saying they pulled it due to “recent events,” adding they are “focused on celebrating PRIDE with our employees and our community.” In any case, given how many streamers have sided with NICKMERCS and the backlash to Activision’s decision, it will be interesting to see how this affects the franchise going forward and future operator skins.

NICKMERCS blasts Warzone’s “accidental” pay to win blueprints over OP XM4 – Dexerto
NICKMERCS blasts Warzone’s “accidental” pay to win blueprints over OP XM4 NICKMERCS/ActivisionWarzone star Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff believes that Raven Software have got to stop ‘accidentally’ releasing pay-to-win blueprints after the Great Pacific loadout has taken over the battle royale. Just like every other multiplayer game these days, Warzone has an item shop where players can get their hands on a whole host of new cosmetics, be it for weapons, characters, or vehicles. Over time, however, some of these items have been perceived as “pay to win” because they offer more than just a cosmetic. Blueprints for the Mac-10 and snipers have given players a stats advantage, as they’ve been better than the base in-game weapon. Recently, the Great Pacific blueprint for the XM4 has created a stir as it has a boost stats and a deadly fire rate that mows down enemies with ease, and NICKMERCS wants this to change. NICKMERCS on Warzone’s “pay to win” Great Pacific blueprint In his May 17 video, the FaZe Clan star admitted that these broken blueprints are great content providers for YouTubers and streamers, but they are ultimately wrong and need to change. “There’s a lot of people that think the blueprint should be taken out of the game. Me? Conceptually, this is jacked up. I don’t think they should be doing the pay to win stuff, where you buy certain blueprints and you get stats on that,” Nick said. “They’ve (Raven) done it before with the Mac-10. Every time they do it, they say it’s ‘an accident’ and I mean, alright, I’m not up there making it, I don’t know how they make this stuff. I ain’t up there doing it, so I don’t want to rag on them too hard.” Nick noted that ultimately its “not a good idea” to have pay to win content, but people are going to take advantage of it regardless. It remains to be seen if the calls for a change, either to the weapon or the blueprints system as a whole, will be heard.

NICKMERCS blasts “rats” CoD devs over MW3 Warzone skin that looks like his – Dexerto
NICKMERCS blasts “rats” CoD devs over MW3 Warzone skin that looks like his NICKMERCS/ActivisionStreaming star Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has hit out at the Call of Duty Warzone devs as a new skin has popped up and looks similar to his one that has been removed. Over the years, different games have found ways to honor some of their most loyal and popular fans. Fortnite had the ICON Series cosmetics, which saw the likes of Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys get skins in-game. Naturally, that led to calls for Call of Duty to follow suit. Many suggested that competitive legends like Seth ‘Scump’ Abner and Mathew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag should get their own, but, instead, it was NICKMERCS and Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar who received the first two. Those two skins were in the game for a few days before being pulled from the store after Nick made a controversial comment about Pride Month relating to LGBTQIA+ topics in schools. Tim’s skin was also removed for a brief period as he backed his friend. NICKMERCS hits out at Warzone devs over new Roman soldier skin While Tim’s cosmetics have been available since, Nick’s set hasn’t – and it’s even cost people like Scump their own skin too – with the FaZe Clan star boycotting CoD ever since. Well, with the release of Warzone’s integration with Modern Warfare 3, the devs have added a new Roman soldier-esque skin to the battle royale, and it looks pretty similar to Nick’s since-removed skin. It didn’t long for him to comment on it after one fan brought it to his attention. “Buncha rats,” Nick commented, naturally an emoji of a rat as well. Some fans called on Nick to take legal action over the new skin, however, that would be pretty difficult given they’re all using depictions of Roman soldiers anyway. It’s all just historical. As noted, the FaZe Clan star has not been back on CoD since his skin was removed, but opened the door slightly to making a return by saying he’ll “see what the vibe is” with regards to the update.

NICKMERCS blasts new “horrible” Warzone AMP63 weapon everyone thinks is good – Dexerto
NICKMERCS blasts new “horrible” Warzone AMP63 weapon everyone thinks is good Activision / NICKMERCS (YouTube)The AMP63 is the latest gun to be added to Warzone in Season 3, but Call of Duty content creator Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff believes the pistol isn’t as good as everyone is making out. While the AMP63 was accidentally released a little earlier in the Season 3 update, the pistol has finally been made available to everyone. The full-auto pistol comes packed with a blisteringly fast rate of fire, decent accuracy, and barely any recoil. Since its release, many Call of Duty streamers have been quick to praise the new gun, but NICKMERCS doesn’t believe it’s a viable option in Warzone. Even if you do unlock the AMP63 and kit it out with the best loadout, the pistol does struggle to keep up with the game’s best SMG classes. Knowing whether the AMP63 is worth leveling up will certainly save you a lot of time, especially given how long it takes to grind the best attachments. Fortunately, Nick has given his honest opinion on this overrated pistol. “I’m going to be honest with you, it’s a cap. I mean, this thing is horrible,” says Nick. The AMP63 originally appeared in the first Black Ops, where it was known as the PM63 and was classified as an SMG. The gun was renowned for having a very fast rate of fire and low damage, forcing players to find close-quarter scenarios where they could spray people down. Read More: Best Warzone AMP63 class loadout – However, when compared to other SMGs, the PM63 always failed to make a mark. This same problem is also highlighted in Warzone, where it struggles to remain competitive against the current close-quarter kings. “Man, could they put some more oomph on it. People have been uploading this thing, calling it broken, calling it OP, but hey, guys listen. It’s so bad, it’s not worth it. You can use it if you’d like, but nah.” Timestamp of 0:10 Throughout the video, NICKMERCS demonstrated just how difficult it is to kill opponents with the AMP63. Even when running the gun akimbo, the full-auto pistols struggled to deal the damage needed to knock down an opponent. Whether Raven Software will buff the AMP63 in a future update remains to be seen, but for now, you’re best off using another close-range class.

NICKMERCS’ “strongest” MAC-10 Warzone loadout is incredibly deadly – Dexerto
NICKMERCS’ “strongest” MAC-10 Warzone loadout is incredibly deadly Activision / NICKMERCS (YouTube)Call of Duty content creator Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff continues to dominate Warzone with his best MAC-10 loadout. Despite receiving a nerf, this loadout proves the lightning-fast SMG still packs a punch. The MAC-10 has been a somewhat controversial SMG in Warzone since the gun released as part of the Season 1 update. It quickly established itself as a strong candidate for best SMG in the game, a status which was cemented because of the incredible power of one of its blueprints. It soon became clear that the Gallantry blueprint of the Mac-10 was far more powerful than the base version, leading large parts of the community to criticize Raven and Activision for the duration of time it remained considerably stronger. Since the blueprints and base versions were weakened though, the gun has dropped off in terms of popularity, reflecting its relative strength but failure to dominate like it once could. That hasn’t stopped NICKMERCS from dropping his best MAC-10 Warzone loadout, showing that in the right hands it can still deal devastating damage. Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Barrel: 5.3″ Extended – Stock: Wire Stock – Underbarrel: Patrol Grip – Ammunition: Salvo 53 Rnd Fast Mag – Nick’s MAC-10 is significantly different from our own loadout that uses the SAS Combat Stock and Serpent Wrap Grip. Instead, the Call of Duty Streamer has opted for a build that maximizes the MAC-10’s mobility, while also adding a significant boost to the gun’s range and reducing its recoil. First up is the Agency Suppressor. This handy muzzle eliminates the gun’s muzzle flash and increases damage range. While the MAC-10 is still best used in close-quarter scenarios, the added range can give you the damage needed to finish off any low health mid-range targets. Meanwhile, the 5.3″ Extended barrel bolsters the MAC-10’s damage range. Both the Wire Stock and Patrol Grip serve to enhance the SMG’s mobility, making it ideal for those snappy run and gun moments. After all, speed is key when you wish to get the drop on your enemies. Read More: 10 most popular weapons in Warzone – Rounding things off at the bottom of the list is the Salvo 53 Rnd Fast Mag. Not only does this attachment speed up reload times, but significantly buffs the number of shots at the user’s disposal. It’s certainly not hard to see why NICKMERCS thinks it’s still a viable weapon, with its strengths definitely augmented by the chosen attachments. Drop in and try it in Season 2. NICKMERCS believes Warzone is “falling off” because of cheating – Dexerto
NICKMERCS believes Warzone is “falling off” because of cheating Activision / YT: NICKMERCSNick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff, Warzone content creator for FaZe Clan, has explained his worries that the CoD battle royale is “falling off” due to its struggles with cheaters and more. Warzone has been a resounding success for Raven and Activision, demonstrating a longevity that Blackout didn’t appear capable of. However, many of its most prominent creators and players have warned that it is struggling, and not as enjoyable as it could be. The overwhelming reason, unsurprisingly, is Warzone’s issue when it comes to combatting cheaters. Raven have released multiple ban waves, but players continue to argue of their insignificance given the millions who drop into Verdansk. Joining those disappointed voices is NICKMERCS who, in a July 24 YouTube video, discussed whether he thinks the battle royale is “falling off”. “A lot of people in my chat, a lot of people on my socials been talking about it, is Warzone dying?” he asked. “The biggest problem right now is hacking. There’s no anti-cheat, it’s not a shocker. You guys know that, I know that. “It’s very very difficult to play the game of Warzone because one, there’s a lot of people cheating and two, you never know who’s cheating. It’s become relentless.” “I think that right there is gonna be a big reason if and when the game does really fall off,” he continued. “Because it’s got a lot of content creators and people just not really wanting to play the game so much anymore. I mean you see TimTheTatman on this New World game, I’ve been playing a lot of Fortnite and the list goes on and on and on.” He went on to address the competitive Warzone community, lamenting it for a “serious lack on integrity”. Plenty of prominent creators have been baselessly accused of cheating, while content creators who are cheating continue to ruin tournaments and competitions. Nick concluded that Warzone is “slowly” falling off, but it’s not yet beyond saving. Let’s hope Raven and Activision do just that.

NICKMERCS believes his PKM Warzone loadout could shake up the meta – Dexerto
NICKMERCS believes his PKM Warzone loadout could shake up the meta Activision / NICKMERCS (YouTube)Call of Duty content creator Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has revealed his favorite PKM loadout, which absolutely shreds squads across Verdansk. The LMG class has taken a bit of a backseat in Warzone Season 3, but there are still a few that are worth using. Aside from the powerful Stoner 63 builds that have started cropping up in the battle royale title, Nick believes the PKM could be a game-changer. In fact, the Call of Duty content creator believes that more players should give it a chance. Nick previously showcased his powerful AS VAL loadout, but for those that enjoy the LMG playstyle, you’ll definitely want to consider picking this beefy weapon up. This PKM loadout comes packed with great accuracy, damage range, and a never-ending supply of bullets to riddle your enemies with. It’s certainly not hard to see why the popular streamer believes the PKM could creep into the meta spotlight. In his recent video, NICKMERCS stated how much he loved Warzone’s LMG class. “Guys, I gotta be honest. The LMGs in Warzone have always been my cup of tea.” After all, Nick saw a lot of success at competitive Warzone tournaments where he utilized the Bruen – an LMG that was notorious for its damage and overall laser-accurate fire. However, the FaZe Clan co-owner has only recently given the LMG class some love. After testing out the M4A1, Grau, Kilo, and AMAX, Nick has finally been testing out the game’s LMGs. “I put the PKM on, I changed up the attachments a little bit for just overall accuracy and overall recoil control. And honestly guys, this gun could change the game.” Timestamp of 2:04 It’s clear that Nick was adamant about the PKM becoming a meta weapon in Season 3. “Beaming ain’t even the word, lazer isn’t even the word. You just put teams down with this thing.” The only downside with the PKM, is its sluggish mobility and lengthy reload animation. However, this can be countered by equipping an SMG or an Assault Rifle as a secondary. While the PKM has been popular in past Warzone seasons, the beefy LMG has fallen out of contention. Despite this, Nick’s latest loadout proves that the PKM can still rival Warzone’s best meta loadouts. Make sure you give it a try and check out our most popular Warzone loadouts by visiting our Call of Duty page.

NICKMERCS reveals “broken” AUG Warzone loadout: Best season 2 class – Dexerto
NICKMERCS reveals “broken” AUG Warzone loadout: Best season 2 class Activision / NICKMERCS (YouTube)Twitch and YouTube star Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has come up with an AUG loadout that he believes is pretty broken, and might just be the “most overpowered class” in Warzone. Since the switch to Cold War Season 2, the AUG has become a pretty popular choice with Warzone players, even though it’s not as fast as the FFAR or MAC-10. The tactical rifle deals decent damage across a multitude of ranges and can be the perfect partner for an assault rifle or sub-machine gun in a custom loadout. It’s become the weapon of choice for many streamers, including NICKMERCS, who, despite differing from the game’s meta, believes he’s got a “broken” setup for the Cold War AUG. The FaZe Clan member revealed his new setup in his March 12 video, explaining that players had been crying out for a burst gun meta and now they’ve got it with the changes to the AUG. “On the AUG, there’s a lot of different ways you can build this but really there are only one or two ways that work. If you guys haven’t leveled up your AUG yet, if you haven’t used it in Warzone, you’re just wrong and you need to get right,” said Nick, hyping the AUG up. As he notes, his setup is a little bit different to meta, seeing as he’s using a front grip instead of the Field Agent Foregrip that he was previously using. “In all honesty, it still bangs the same way,” Nick added. NICKMERCS’ AUG Warzone loadout Muzzle: Agency Silencer – Barrel: 18.2″ Strike Team – Optic: Axial Arms 3x – Underbarrel: Front Grip – Ammunition: 45 Rnd Drum – Nick notes that the way he setups the AUG is “broken,” in a good way, and will easily wipe out enemy squads at pretty much any range. Read More: How to get your Warzone Report for year one – Whether or not everyone starts to follow in his footsteps, though, is unknown. Some Warzone players don’t want to conform to the meta, and would rather use what they know and love.

NICKMERCS argues Warzone hackers shouldn’t be banned for using unreleased content – Dexerto
NICKMERCS argues Warzone hackers shouldn’t be banned for using unreleased content YouTube: NICKMERCS/ActivisionYouTube and Twitch star Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff believes that Warzone hackers who just unreleased content like new skins and operators shouldn’t be banned alongside aimbotting cheaters, calling for Activision to make a change. Since Warzone released back in March of 2020, hackers have managed to ruin plenty of games with different cheats. These cheats stem from wallhacks to aimbots, and even god mode. Players have called for better anti-cheat systems to wipe these cheaters out, and even though ban waves have been rolled out, cheaters remain. In recent weeks, some have been using hacks that don’t really affect other players, as they just get to use unreleased skins and characters in Warzone. Some of these have been banned, but NICKMERCS believes that shouldn’t be the case. In his March 20 video, the FaZe Clan star noted that, in a recent game, he managed to take down an enemy who had an unreleased weapon skin and started using it for himself. As a result, the player who he took the skin from received a ban. “A lot people are getting banned, and they don’t deserve to be permanently banned,” Nick said. “I think Activision should keep the focus on the hacking that is bad, like the guys who are going into games with aimbots and the walls. Lets keep the focus, lets keep the attention on these guys.” The streaming star commended the developers for doing “a good job” cleaning up hackers, but these players who are using unreleased content are getting “unwarranted” bans. “There are a lot of people getting caught in the crossfire, and there’s got to be something that we can do about, or Activision can do, in the hopes that the wrong people don’t get banned,” Nick continued. Timestamp of 0:30 Like many, Nick still wants an anti-cheat in place. Activision may have banned over 100,000 accounts, but Warzone is a free-to-play game, so you can simply make a new account and cheat all over again. Read More: Best Groza Warzone loadout class – In terms of being banned for using unreleased content, while harmless to other players, it is still hacking and taking away from the developer’s product. However, using unreleased skins has happened in Call of Duty’s before, and not come with any punishment, so we’ll have to wait and see if things get reversed.

NICKMERCS argues Warzone benefits from OP guns like MG 82 – Dexerto
NICKMERCS argues Warzone benefits from OP guns like MG 82 YouTube: NICKMERCS/ActivisionWarzone has had its fair share of incredibly overpowered weapons in the last year and while they usually cause outrage, Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff believes they can actually be good for the game. In the last year, since Warzone first launched, a handful of overpowered weapons have slipped through the cracks and led to players being incredibly frustrated. The ridiculous DMR ‘meta’ is still talked about to this day, and with the start of Season 4, it looked like a new OP weapon would take the cake – the MG 82. The LMG shred through players upon arrival, and Raven Software acted quickly to confirm that it wouldn’t stay that way. The weapon has since been nerfed in a new update, but NICKMERCS believes the OP weapons aren’t too bad for the game at times. Just prior to the LMG’s nerf, Nick agreed that it was the “most OP gun in the game” and a fan quickly asked if he believed that Raven thought the weapon was actually balanced on launch or if it was just something that slipped through. “Well, I think that it’s actually good, it’s healthy, for them to add OP guns, I’m not upset with that at all,” Nick replied. “I just think that after a week of this s**t, a week and a half, that’s when they need to make an adjustment, not like (after) a month. “I actually like them adding OP things, it spices the game up a little bit, you know what I mean.” Timestamp of 7:47 The FaZe Clan star further noted that these weapons make the battle royale a bit more “fun” at times as things can get “boring” without something to mix things up. Of course, as he says, they probably shouldn’t be around for too long, but a few days for everyone to enjoy something stupidly powerful isn’t the end of the world.

NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman explain what Warzone 2 needs to be a success – Dexerto
NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman explain what Warzone 2 needs to be a success Activision / NICKMERCS / TimTheTatmanThe hype surrounding Warzone 2 is growing by the day, and streaming stars NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman have outlined what they think will make the next game’s map a big hit among fans. After the difficulties that Warzone has suffered in recent months, it’s no surprise that many players and streamers are already looking ahead to Warzone 2. Devs have admitted that continuously updating the original Warzone has led to issues, so it’s hoped that Warzone 2 will be the fresh start the game needs. The map is a crucial aspect of any battle royale, and it’s vital that Warzone 2 nails this from the get-go. Players have been critical of Caldera since its launch, so another sub-par map could be disastrous for a game looking to start on the right foot. Popular streamers NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman have had their say on what the Warzone 2’s map needs to do to get players back onside. In a video taken from a recent stream, Nick and Tim explained that they felt Warzone should embrace Modern Warfare 2 as the core of the new map. While discussing the possibilities for Warzone 2, Cloakzy started out by saying: “We’re going to be playing Warzone, and we’re going to be landing Highrise and ending in Favela, or something crazy. “That’s what I said I wanted,” replied Tim. “I want to land at Highrise and run through Terminal and end up in Favela.” “Okay, but since the beginning of Warzone we always talked about this,” said Nick. “They make these great Call of Duty maps and then they just die. Why?” Put them in Warzone,” Nick continued. “I completely agree, that’s a great idea.” Modern Warfare 2 is widely expected to be the 2022 CoD, with rumors and leaks hinting that classic arenas from the 2009 original could show up. So it’s definitely a possibility that Warzone 2’s launch map could be heavily inspired by both the old and new titles. Modern Warfare 2 remains one of the most beloved games in the series, and fans would no doubt love to see their favorite classic maps become their new landing site in Warzone 2.

NICKMERCS addresses backlash over MW2 & Warzone 2 operator skin – Dexerto
NICKMERCS addresses backlash over MW2 & Warzone 2 operator skin ActivsionNICKMERCS hit back at Warzone 2 community members who slammed him and TimTheTatman for receiving COD operator skins. TimTheTatman and NICKMERCS became the first content creators to receive their own operator skins in Warzone 2. For 2,400 COD Points, the NICKMERCS bundle includes two operator skins, weapon blueprints, weapon charms, and more. Despite having passionate viewers, not every Warzone 2 community member was on board with Tim and Nick getting their own operator skin. Activision’s announcement of the operator skins on Twitter was met with backlash from players. Comments such as “they don’t even play COD” and “we don’t care” shed a negative light on the crossover. NICKMERCS explained why the decision is actually a “first step in a positive direction” for the community. NICMERCS claims content creators getting operators is a “net positive” During a live stream, NICKMERCS responded to criticism over getting an operator skin. “If this thing came out two years ago, everybody would have been so happy about it, but now given the facts and given the current landscape of the game, there’s a lot of people that are very upset with Call of Duty.” NICKMERCS believes that community members have unfairly deflected their anger from COD to him and Tim. “Because they are so upset with COD, we are getting a lot of s**t. A lot of people are not happy that we are getting skins.” NICKMERCS shot down the claim that Activision used this as a ploy to “save the game” or “put more money in their pockets.” The Leader of the MFAM Army admitted that it is good to have creators like him and Tim incentivized to play with their own operators, but it won’t change the state of the game. “A lot of these smaller content creators and people got it backward. This is a very good thing for creators, and it shows that Call of Duty is going to start doing more of this stuff.” NICKMERCS clapped back at those for not seeing the bigger picture from this opportunity for content creators. “Tim and I are the first, and it’s good for us, but it’s also good for the community as well. This is the first step in a positive direction, and if people can’t see it that way, then they are just hating.” Hopefully, the NICMERCS operator skin serves as a launch pad for other COD streamers to receive in-game recognition.

NickEh30 left red-faced after trying to be family-friendly in Modern Warfare 2 lobby – Dexerto
NickEh30 left red-faced after trying to be family-friendly in Modern Warfare 2 lobby Activision/Twitch: NickEh30Fortnite streamer NickEh30 was forced to mute his entire game chat after attempting to bring his family-friendly vibes and content to Modern Warfare 2, and getting the exact response you’d expect from the Call of Duty community. NickEh30 became a huge star in Fortnite, and really embraced the fun, cartoonish style of the game, following in the footsteps of other top streamers and content creators by going family-friendly. This essentially meant that he wouldn’t swear or let any toxicity into his stream. He became very well-known as “the family-friendly streamer,” making it a huge part of his brand, and it’s provided a lot of success for him so far, earning over 4m followers on Twitch. All of that means nothing, though, when you enter a Call of Duty lobby, as Nick very quickly discovered when he started playing Modern Warfare 2. In the days following launch, Nick has been streaming his games and attempting to make friends with his teammates and enemies alike, but quickly discovered that Call of Duty players don’t respond too well to that. As shown in the clip below, Nick gave a simple “GGs” at the end of the game, when everybody on each team could hear, and it didn’t take long for things to go south. “Bro you f**king suck,” said one player. “Shut up, b*tch.” Another one pointed out that Nick was “bottom of the scoreboard” before the streamer promptly hit the ‘Mute All’ button, apologizing to his stream and saying that game chat will have to be muted. This was one of just many similar clips from Nick’s recent streams, clearly having no success trying to make his CoD lobbies family-friendly too. No matter how hard Nick tries to spread his positivity, it seems unlikely that he’ll ever get his MW2 lobbies to say a simple GGs and not roast each other — but that’s something a lot of CoD players will take pride in.

NFL WR JuJu Smith-Schuster claims that Warzone helped the Chiefs beat the 49ers – Dexerto
NFL WR JuJu Smith-Schuster claims that Warzone helped the Chiefs beat the 49ers Kansas City ChiefsThe Chiefs have looked good in the early going of the NFL season and JuJu Smith-Schuster believes Warzone has played a big part in their success, claiming that it might have been the key to beating the 49ers. The Kansas City Chiefs are off to a hot start early in the NFL season. Sitting atop the AFC West with a 5-2 record, the squad has enjoyed several huge wins through their first seven games. Although the loss of some key players caused many to speculate that they wouldn’t be quite as good as they were in previous years, their new wide receiver attributes the group’s success to Warzone, specifically claiming that Rebirth Island helped them build chemistry that’s showing up on the field. JuJu Smith-Schuster claims Warzone helped the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers In a press conference after their 44-23 win over the San Francisco 49ers, the energetic WR broke down exactly how the offense has managed to become such a well-oiled machine, even with players that are in their first season together. “It was me, Pat, Travis, and [Marquez Valdez-Scantling]… you could just tell, like, the communication between all of us and the chemistry…it was like we were in the game,” he told reporters. While there were some people laughing, the wideout was completely serious about how it helped them put things together as a unit. “We won three game back-to-back and we got off…it kinda led into this game and showed on the field.” Of course, these four aren’t the only NFL players who are deeply invested in CoD. Linebacker Matt Judon is a member of the Call of Duty League’s Boston Breach, and there’s been some internet detective work that asserts that Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray actually performs worse on the field when the new title releases each year. As for the Chiefs, they’re already expected to contend for a Super Bowl appearance this year, but with the upcoming release of Warzone 2, the group could become an unstoppable force if this trend keeps up.

NFL star Tyreek Hill credits streamer JoeWo with Warzone skills – Dexerto
NFL star Tyreek Hill credits streamer JoeWo with Warzone skills ActivisionWhen Tyreek Hill is not shredding NFL defenses, you can find him in Al Mazrah putting on a show. The football star revealed where he picked up his Warzone 2 skills. Professional athletes have been well known to dip their toes in gaming and streaming. The Boston Breach signed NFL linebacker Matt Judon as a content creator, and Arizona Cardinals star quarterback Kyler Murray signed with FaZe in 2021, becoming a big name in Call of Duty and streaming. Hill has been outspoken about his obsession with video games. The NFL star has over 900 thousand subscribers on YouTube, streaming Fortnite and Madden in the past. There are plenty of popular Warzone streamers to choose from, but Hill explained why JoeWo is one of his go-to watches for learning more about the game. Tyreek Hill praises JoeWo for his Warzone 2 skills Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreke Hill earned the nickname “cheetah” for his blistering speed. So it’s only fitting he would admire “movement king” Joseph ‘JoeWo’ Wohala for his Call of Duty skills. In an interview with Jake Lucky, Tyreke Hill said he watches JoeWo “because he plays CoD and wins a lot, so I have been trying to learn his techniques and stuff.” JoeWo shared the clip and said, “the gas from the world’s fastest man.” Hill won a Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020, so you can understand why he would align himself with someone who wins a lot. People in the comment section pleaded for a collab. One commenter responded, “well, time to see this collab,” and a second user added, “now y’all gotta run duos.” Entering the final week of the NFL season, the Miami Dolphins are in a must-win situation to clinch a playoff berth. If Miami advances to the playoffs, a collab is unlikely anytime soon, but if Hill’s season ends early, fans would love a stream with the pair.

NFL star Marcus Mariota drops major hint after getting to try new CoD game – Dexerto
NFL star Marcus Mariota drops major hint after getting to try new CoD game Call of Duty / TennesseanA major hint about the next installment of the Call of Duty series has been dropped by NFL player Marcus Mariota, after he claims to have had the chance to try out the new game. There has been a lot of buzz around the Call of Duty community over the past few days as more and more reports about the 2019 title have begun to surface. While nothing can be considered 100% until an official announcement is made, all indications are that the next CoD game will be none other than Modern Warfare 4. Marcus Mariota drops major hint Appearing on a promotional Fortnite Battle Royale stream with Twitch star Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff, Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota was asked about what his favorite CoD game of all time was. He replied saying that he loves the original Modern Warfare, then added a comment that may have been a lot more revealing than he had intended. “They just let me … we just played the new one,” he said. “Yeah, it’s pretty dope. It’s like the old Modern Warfare.” While he stopped short of revealing that the next title was indeed going to be Modern Warfare 4, the fact that he revealed that the game he had gotten to try was “like the old Modern Warfare” could really only mean one thing. Football players try out 2019 CoD game Mariota was not the only football player to try out the new CoD game; in the days leading up to the NFL Draft on April 25, several collegiate stars were also invited to test out this year’s title. Several of the athletes posted about their experience on social media, but no one came close to dropping a hint as big as the one that Mariota spilled on the live-stream. Major signs pointing to Modern Warfare 4 Even before Mariota said what he said on the livestream, there was heavy speculation that the fourth installment of the Modern Warfare series would be releasing this Fall. On April 25, an ex-Infinity Ward developer confirmed that MW4 was the next game in development, which fell in line with all of the leaks and intel that had been surfacing over the past few weeks. Considering how overwhelming the indications have started to become, it’s looking like the announcement revealing the next CoD game will come sooner rather than later.

NFL player figures out perfect way to grind Warzone while preparing for 2021 season – Dexerto
NFL player figures out perfect way to grind Warzone while preparing for 2021 season Instagram, @ajdillon2, @evansiegle / ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone’s Season 5 is right around the corner, but so is the NFL 2021-22 season. Fortunately, Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon has crafted a setup to grind both at the same time. Field of view (FOV) is a constant topic in Warzone, as console players wonder why they’re forced to see less of their screen than PC counterparts. American football players are similarly aware of FOV concerns, as their helmets protect their heads but obstruct their peripheral vision. With Season 5 coming up in a few days, the Packers’ sophomore RB Dillon is spending his recovery time in Verdansk. But he’s also taken the “no days off” mantra up a notch, simultaneously preparing for pro football while in the battle royale. As Dillon shared on Twitter and TikTok, he’s bringing the practice field to Vedansk during his August Twitch streams. Helmet on, chinstrap attached, Dillon is preparing to see holes in opposing defenses this season by putting holes in Warzone combatants. Go ahead and follow the twitch: Ajdillon28 pic.twitter.com/zOEjoAfZA7 — AJ Dillon (@ajdillon7) August 9, 2021 While Dillon obviously doesn’t need to look around too much while playing Warzone, there are still merits to this training regimen. An NFL helmet can be uncomfortable, weighing over four pounds, heating your head up, and blocking your full range of vision. When preparing or recovering to get into football action, players have resorted to extra helmet reps in the past. For example, Hall of Fame QB Peyton Manning iconically wore his helmet while watching film in an ice bath. Helmet on. Gametape on iPad. Ankle soaking. This is how Peyton Manning spends his downtime. pic.twitter.com/rm27Rwgoa7 — ESPN (@espn) December 12, 2013 While Dillon’s setup doesn’t include game film or icing, it does allow him to get comfortable in the helmet while recovering from practice. VIdeo games are one of athletes’ favorite pastimes, as their bodies get to relax while their minds stay competitive and engaged. As a 23-year-old sophomore back who only ran 46 times in his rookie year, all extra work is good extra work for the “Quadfather.” College uniforms can often be different than professional counterparts, so it’s even possible that this is him adjusting to a different style of helmet. Whatever the case, one thing is quite obvious: whether on the field or off the field, it’s always game time for AJ Dillon.

NFL Lineman Rodger Saffold on Owning Rise Nation and the Organization’s Recent Success “At first we were thinking this was more of a hobby” – Dexerto
NFL Lineman Rodger Saffold on Owning Rise Nation and the Organization’s Recent Success “At first we were thinking this was more of a hobby” Rise Nation Founder Rodger Saffold has perfected the art of owning a top Call of Duty team while also maintaining a career as a professional NFL player over the course of his esports journey. When it comes to professional Call of Duty at the time of writing, few teams across the scene can compare to Rise Nation in terms of championships and overall prowess following their dominant performance in the CoD: WWII season thus far. Rise was originally founded in 2014 during the CoD: Ghosts season with a roster consisting of Jonathan ‘Pacman’ Tucker, Daniel ‘Loony’ Loza, Damod ‘FEARS’ Abney, and Jamal ‘Whea7s’ Lee, however, the organization did not start to find storied success until the Black Ops 3 season in 2015. Since its formation, the team has always had an interesting twist due to being owned by Saffold, an NFL lineman for the Los Angeles Rams, who always expressed interest in the gaming industry for years prior to being drafted in 2010. However, even though Rise has now become a household name throughout the competitive Call of Duty community and is branching out into other esports titles such as Gears of War and Street Fighter, Saffold recalls how he thought it was ‘more of a hobby’ when first starting out during an interview with ESPN. At first we were thinking this was more of a hobby […] But now it has kind of grown, and having more than one team and having players from all over the world has really been shocking thus far. We’re only five years into this.” More: Surprising Statistics Show The Most Clutch SnD Players in CoD: WWII – Joee, Accuracy, Denz and More – He went on to mention how even though he was wrapped up in the NFL and professional sports in general, he was always just a ‘fan’ of esports, which sparked his interest in owning a team. “Before I got started with this, I was a fan […] I wasn’t a corporation trying to just get into esports. … So being able to come to these things and just watch game play, because as a gamer, I watch these guys, and I’m picking up tips.” As of writing, Rise Nation currently sits atop Division B of the CWL Pro League with a record of 6-1, and has already won three major championships throughout the CoD: WWII season at CWL Atlanta, Seattle, and Anaheim, More information on Rodger Saffold and his involvement with Rise Nation can be found in the official ESPN interview. Next CoD mobile updates revealed: battle royale changes and more – Dexerto
Next CoD mobile updates revealed: battle royale changes and more ActivisionActivision has revealed what is coming down the line in future Call of Duty: Mobile updates including new maps, weapons, and even a few changes to the battle royale mode. Building on the success of Call of Duty on both console and PC, CoD Mobile allows mobile players to get in on the action by throwing together a number of classic maps, weapons, and modes into one game. By using Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Black Ops, Black Ops 2, and the newest Call Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, fans can relive the older titles in a simplified way. As this has proven to be pretty popular, Activision has showered the mobile game in updates – and there are still many more to come. CoD Mobile season six content roadmap In their May 7 community update, following the season six patch, the developers revealed the roadmap for the new season. Off the bat, Rust and Capture the Flag are the new map and mode being introduced, while the previously teased Saloon location and 1v1 mode are both coming in mid-May. Before that, though, the Gold Rush variant for the battle royale mode is set to launch in early-May, with Kill Confirmed also getting added around the same time. Another battle royale mode, Class Poltergeist, will also be added in late-May. CoD Mobile battle royale map changes Yet, the new modes aren’t the only thing coming to the battle royale. The developers have also teased a few map changes, seemingly in the form of an extension to the Isolated map. In the northern part of the map, above Nuclear Plant and Standoff, there are seven dots listed as work in progress, with their addition set to come in June. Sadly though, there are no teases about what locations they could be. Prior to previous updates, the developers have teased their new locations just before they’re added, so it might be the same for these planned battle royale changes. Even though it is a little bit of a wait until June, the hype and anticipation will no doubt continue to build until the new updates are dropped.

Newest Warzone hack allows cheaters to play in incognito mode – Dexerto
Newest Warzone hack allows cheaters to play in incognito mode Activision / GoogleA new Call of Duty: Warzone hack is making the rounds on social media. As players are shocked to find out, it seems that cheaters have effectively given themselves a “streamer mode” to hide and distort their names. The most notorious Warzone hacks are gameplay-related. You’ve got the cheaters who pay to have aimbot, wall hacks, and even those who fly cars. Now, though, they’re taking things to the UI level as well. In the past, Warzone streamers have begged for a streamer mode to help them avoid stream snipers. Such a system would alter a player’s name in-game so that it wasn’t as easy to recognize them and then load up their livestream. Unfortunately, while the devs have yet to heed those wishes, hackers seem to have taken the concept and run with it. In a new cheat, they’re able to make their gamer tags invisible – across the kill cam and kill feed. Warzone hackers now able to play with their own “streamer mode” Hackers can HIDE THEIR NAMES NOW? pic.twitter.com/amEMLyhPWK — KingProdigy (@KingProdigyTV) February 2, 2022 As you can see in the pictures from ‘DooM KingProdigy,’ the cheaters literally have no gamer tags visible when you spectate them. Further, when they kill you, the kill feed makes it look like you killed yourself. Absolutely stunned by this development, which is likely to make it harder to find and report hackers after the game, Prodigy captioned his tweet “hackers can HIDE THEIR NAMES NOW?” In the replies, people corroborated the new cheat and someone showed that the incognito mode tags aren’t even the only UI tweaks around. This is a nice feature, right? @RavenSoftware @ModernWarzone @TheGhostOfHope pic.twitter.com/GmAzfuy8qe — Pablo Mena (@pablomenaaa) February 3, 2022 As ‘Pablito Mena’ showed in another tweet, hackers are also apparently able to give their gamer tags the .gif treatment. Like a fun, sparkly blogger – it seems that they can have their tag change colors and sizes. While this .gif tag is simply cosmetic, the incognito one is a bit concerning since it might make it more difficult to find the hacker and report them after a match.

New Zombies ‘Portals’ Could Be Coming to CoD: Black Ops 4 ‘Blackout’ During Special DLC Weekends – Dexerto
New Zombies ‘Portals’ Could Be Coming to CoD: Black Ops 4 ‘Blackout’ During Special DLC Weekends It appears as though new Zombies related content could be coming to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 ‘Blackout’ battle royale mode during certain weekends. David Vonderhaar, Game Design Director at Treyarch, took to social media on September 10 to hint that new Zombies ‘portals’ could be added to Blackout. These portals, which would be found only in locations that spawn Zombies, would essentially allow players to teleport from one part of the map to the area. Vonderhaar’s tweet came in the form of a poll intended to gauge the players’ interest in this sort of thing. As of now, 60% of voters think it’s a good idea, while 40% say ‘No. Just no.” :zombie:♂️ portals that teleport you between :zombie:♂️ locations during :zombie:♂️ DLC :rocket: weekends in Blackout. — Lord Vonderhaar (@DavidVonderhaar) September 11, 2018 If this feature is added to Blackout, it would implement a new strategic layer to the game. Players would now have a way to quickly escape the dangers of the gas and find safety, even if they may have been hopelessly far from the safe zone. It would also offer a way hop around different Zombie locations in search of rare loot, such as the powerful Ray Gun. Read More: Call of Duty: Blackout Players Have Discovered a Glitch That Allows You to Duplicate Items – It would be interesting to see how these portals would actually work in terms of whether players will be able to manually choose which location they want to teleport to or if it will be randomized. If it is the latter, that would add serious risk into using the portals, which could play a part in them being balanced and not too over-powered. Regardless, the addition of this feature would seem to be part of Treyarch’s plan to experiment with different content and mechanics in the Private Beta to ensure that the first version of Blackout at launch is as close to perfect as can be. The Blackout Private Beta is currently live on Playstation 4, and will go live on both Xbox One and PC starting September 14. There will also be an open version of the beta for PC players starting September 15. The beta will go offline across all platforms at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET on September 17.

New Zombies boss spotted in Black Ops 4’s Blackout The boss from Black Ops 4’s new Zombie map “IX” has been spotted roaming the cemetery area in Blackout. The cemetery is located near Asylum, a location where zombies spawn consistently. In patch notes released on September 16, Treyarch confirmed the new Zombies boss is available for players to hunt down. A new horror seeks to destroy all who approach its domain. The Blightfather has been temporarily transported from the upcoming Zombies experience, IX, to the proving grounds of Blackout. You can find out when the Blackout beta will end in your region by using Dexerto’s international time guide. The Blightfather is capable of taking massive damage, which YouTuber Chaosxsilencer demonstrated by emptying dozens of rounds into the boss to no effect. Treyarch is calling the boss being available on the map an “event,” which may hint at the evolving nature of the Blackout once the game launches. Read More: Complete Blackout map guide: everything you need to know about the battle royale map in Black Ops 4 “IX” is a Zombies experience in Black Ops 4 that features a new storyline and characters that are separate from previous Black Ops titles. New ziplines added to Warzone Season 5 to combat roof campers – Dexerto
New ziplines added to Warzone Season 5 to combat roof campers Infinity Ward[jwplayer gd7BhumN] Activision and Infinity Ward released a brand new trailer for Season 5 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and one thing that caught the eye of many fans was the inclusion of brand new ziplines attached to the side of tall buildings and structures on the Warzone map. Back during Season 4’s midseason update, Activision shared an image of the Stadium area in Call of Duty: Warzone that got people talking. Not only did it feature the top of the stadium open for players to go in and explore but fans also noticed a peculiar structure on the side of the building, which fans speculated was for a grappling hook. Now, on August 3, with Season 5 is just a day or so away, a new trailer has revealed that the structure is actually a zipline, of one several that will be making their debut in Verdansk come August 5. It is a bit hard to see, as it’s only featured for a few seconds, however, you can clearly see players riding a zipline up the side of tall buildings, and not just the Stadium. As of the time of writing, it’s unknown the exact number of ziplines that will be featured in the game. It’s easy to assume that any building that has an elevator shaft will also feature the new outdoor zipline, however, this is unconfirmed. What we do know, however, is that the decision to add this new feature was probably made with combatting roof campers in mind. Camping on rooftops has been a major complaint from many in the fan-base since Warzone first came out, so this is definitely part of an effort to help players deal with those kinds of people. Many of the tall structures in the game, such as Stadium and the skyscrapers in places like Downtown and Hospital, have only one or two access points, making it really easy for a team to sit up top and not really be worried about an attack. Now, with the addition of ziplines, it’ll not only be easier for players to try and sneak up on a team that’s camping, but it’ll also give that squad something extra to think about while up there. That said, however, taking one up to the top of a building can be a risky proposition. For one, players will be completely exposed during their time going up the line, opening themselves up for an easy third-party death. Secondly, the newness of the feature means it’ll be on everyone’s mind, at least for the first few weeks of Season 5, so most people sitting on rooftops will probably keep a close eye on the ropes so to not get ambushed. All things considered though, the addition of ziplines will probably end up being a good decision, as it can’t hurt to give players another way to access those types of points on the map, even though only time will tell how effective they’ll prove to be. Season 5 kicks off on August 5 (11 PM PT on August 4) for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

New York Subliners slammed for “f**king over” amateur COD team days before CDL Major – Dexerto
New York Subliners slammed for “f**king over” amateur COD team days before CDL Major New York SublinersCall of Duty League franchise New York Subliners have been accused of leaving their former amateur team in the lurch, voiding their contracts and canceling their travel arrangements just over a week before the Major 3 event. In February, the Subliners announced they were picking up a Challengers team to compete in the amateur bracket at CDL Majors, one of few CDL teams investing in the Tier 2 scene. Now, in the lead-up to the third Major of the 2024 season, the team sought to make a roster change to give themselves the best chance possible at the Toronto event — but things quickly went south. According to multiple sources, the Subliners had three of the roster contracted and all four with flights, hotel, and team pass for the event all booked. But, when they attempted to bring in a new fourth player, the organization quickly changed their plans. With ten days to go before the event, the players were allegedly made aware that they had been let go and would not have NYSL’s funding for the tournament, including being asked to pay for the team pass the organization had acquired for them, something former player Dylan ‘Mock’ Mock called “nasty work.” Former NYSL Academy player Nemensions added that the players only found out “by accident” and that it could have been even closer to the event before they were told had they not done so. Teammate Mamba also spoke out, saying that they got “hoed out of funding” and saying the way the team got “f**ked over” is “insane.” The New York Subliners’ main team will be in attendance at the Major in Toronto, looking to turn around their poor online form and show on LAN why they are the reigning world champions. Ahead of the final weekend of Major 3 qualifiers, the Subliners sit in sixth in the current split standings, though will be hoping to prove they’ve earned their spot among what fans commonly refer to as the “top 4” alongside OpTic Texas, Atlanta FaZe, and Toronto Ultra. The New York Subliners declined Dexerto’s request for comment. Want to play Call of Duty League daily fantasy? New York Subliners release Censor and Accuracy from CDL roster – Dexerto
New York Subliners release Censor and Accuracy from CDL roster New York SublinersThe New York Subliners have released Doug ‘Censor’ Martin and Lamar ‘Accuracy’ Abedi as the off-season free agency continues to see multiple Call of Duty League teams making big roster changes. CDL teams are looking forward to the 2021 season that will feature a change to 4v4. The structural change calls for orgs to field one less player per team, atop of any other changes planned to improve their lineups. Donovan ‘Temp’ Laroda and substitute Nick ‘Happy’ Suda had previously announced they were departing the Subliners. That now makes it four players that the New York org has parted ways with since free agency began. “Wish you guys nothing but the best next year, appreciate all the effort you put in throughout (Modern Warfare) and the memories,” Subliners coach Revan said. “Even though we got our time torched daily I always looked forward to 2PM scrims. Was a rough start to the year but we worked hard to turn it around and we did. Thank you.” Temp and Accuracy were a part of the Subliners starting lineup throughout the CDL. The team began the inaugural season dead last during the Launch Weekend, but made a turnaround by the end of the year to get first place when they hosted the online New York Home Series. Before joining the Subliners, Censor went on an all-out campaign to get picked up by a CDL team and was successfully able to get signed by the Subliners as a substitute player. Now the New York-based team dropped notable members of both their starting lineup and talent pool of subs. NEW YORK SUBLINERS DROPPED PLAYERS Lamar ‘Accuracy’ Abedi – Donovan ‘Temp’ Laroda – Doug ‘Censor’ Martin – Nick ‘Happy’ Suda – Thank you @AccuracyLA, @Temp, @Censor, and @OpSuda for representing New York in our inaugural season of the @CODLeague. We are grateful for all of your contributions to the team. We wish you all the best in your next chapter.#NYSL pic.twitter.com/Cx5LmKhFNu — Subliners (@Subliners) September 8, 2020 The move comes on the heels of other teams like the London Royal Ravens and the Paris Legion off-loading their entire lineups a few days after the free agency window opened. We’ve already seen star players like Brandon ‘Dashy’ Otell and James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks released from LA OpTic and Dallas Empire, respectively. Any new contracts for these free agents can’t happen until September 14, per CDL rules, so keep up with @DexertoINTEL and the Rostermania hub for all the latest.

New York Subliners push to “next level” in CDL 2023 Major 1 triumph – Dexerto
New York Subliners push to “next level” in CDL 2023 Major 1 triumph Twitter: COD LeagueThe new-look New York Subliners is firing on all cylinders, taking down the Seattle Surge in dominant fashion to win CDL Major 1. It’s a huge turnaround for NYSL, who were forced to rebuild in a dramatic off-season, but found all the right pieces. The New York Subliners had a spectacular finish to the 2022 season. On the brink of missing CDL Champs, The Subliners climbed from 11th place to eighth after a heroic second-place finish at Major 4 in front of its hometown crowd. It was the bright spot on an otherwise disappointing year. Things were looking up, but then the roster dramatically imploded in the off-season. The organization turned a new leaf straight away: Matthew ‘Kismet’ Tinsley and Paco ‘HyDra’ Rusiewiez returned for CDL 2023, reinvigorated by fresh faces around them. Preston ‘priestahh’ Greiner and Cesar ‘Skyz’ Bueno proved to be the missing links, joining from Minnesota ROKKR and Florida Mutineers. All four players entered 2023 with something to prove, and everything fell perfectly into place at CDL Major 1. If you told someone before the start of the CDL 2023 season the New York Subliners would win Major 1, you may have received a weird look. But this isn’t the same unstable NYSL team you knew before. Skyz, HyDra, Kismet, and priestahh aren’t just great players. They form a cohesive unit with good chemistry on and off the battlefield. Whether it be Skyz and Kismet singing on stage during a match, or Skyz showing off his dance moves between matches, the “vibes” are different in 2023. “If you met me last year, you probably wouldn’t even know me,” HyDra told Dexerto. “Last year, I was not even talking, and the vibes were so off. “Right now, I can just be myself, be more confident, and have a normal conversation with my teammate without it being weird. Like, no one is going to yell at me if I do something bad in-game. Like someone will say something but with respect.” NYSL struggled to find consistency in Major 1 qualifiers, placing ninth, but everything changed on the main stage. They were seemingly unstoppable — sweeping the ROKKR and LA Guerrillas on Day 1, then dispatching Florida on Day 2. The Seattle Surge put an end to their blistering start, but they grinded through the lower bracket to prove their worth in their first event since the implosion. They pushed through Vegas Legion and Atlanta FaZe, before getting their just desserts against Seattle in the grand final. On day two, New York finally dropped a map but still dispatched Florida 3-1. Seattle sent the Subliners down into the losers side of the bracket, but it would be HyDra and company having the last laugh. Kismet couldn’t be stopped in the final series, going 93-87 and earning the MVP award. “I am super confident in what I do. I know I’m one of the best players to do what I do,” he said. “The thing that separates me is I can do that, but I also do the dirty work and anything I can to set my teammates up.” HyDra showed why he earned the nickname “French Phenom,” putting up a 1.14 KD performance against Seattle. Priestahh had received backlash on social media for his performances over the last two seasons, but Kismet came to his defense after his mega Major 1 performance. “I keep hearing it and it’s kind of annoying me,” he said. “I was one of the biggest advocates to get Preston on the team. “I played him in BO4, and I thought he was one of the greatest players. I played him last year, and I thought he was insane, but he didn’t have the right fit.” Skyz finished with the best KD at Major 1, and fully stepped into his role as a main AR. He played with a confidence level that made him impossible to take down. “I feel like I was good, but these coaches unlocked me. They are taking me to the next level I need to be at as a main AR.” It was clear in the second half of 2022 NYSL had the potential to be a top team. New York shook up its coaching staff by promoting Ehsan “DREAL” Javed and brought in Kismet. Both changes were fundamental in the team making its Champs qualification run. New York kept the momentum heading into 2023. Troy ‘Sender’ Michaels has been in the Call of Duty community since 2008, and spent last season as a coach on OpTic Texas. He was brought on the coaching staff for NYSL, and is hungry for success with his new squad. “My goal is a ring, I want a ring. I have been doing this way too long playing and coaching and I want to actually win Champs.” NYSL took the first step in making that championship dream come true, and enter Stage 2 qualifiers with the belief they can take on anyone. After all, they made miracles happen last year, and this new-look Subliners roster are proving to be the full package few expected.

New York Subliners owner explains why branding backlash was “exciting” – Dexerto
New York Subliners owner explains why branding backlash was “exciting” Co-founder and general manager of New York Subliners parent company Andbox, Rohit Gupta, has revealed the community feedback regarding the team’s name, logo, and yellow brand were, funnily enough, “exciting.” As the dawn of the Call of Duty League draws near, fans around the world have been treated to full reveals for each and every franchise team. From starting lineups to homestand locations, a great deal of information has been disclosed prior to the opening matchups on January 24. Among the branding reveals was the New York-based franchise, who came out as the Subliners on October 22 with a unique logo that puzzled fans and led to some initial backlash from the community. While most organizations would feel disappointed, or even worried that they may have missed the mark considering the feedback, Gupta admitted Andbox and the Subliners were delighted with the response in an interview with Esports Insider. Despite initial leaks that saw the branding exposed to the Call of Duty community before official confirmation, Gupta explained in an interview with Esports Insider that the situation was more exciting than anything else. “It gets us excited that the community cares this much – it shows that we’re onto something,” he expressed, outlining how the leaks simply ramped up the enthusiasm internally. As the sole New York-based franchise heading into the first year of the league, the parent company was supposedly never interested in targeting “any other city.” Focusing entirely on creating a powerhouse brand around the same location as their Overwatch League franchise, Gupta underscored the importance of being consistent across scenes. “We would not have been interested in any other city. Our mission is building up the community in New York and we know New York really well. We’re the only org based here and represent [it] on the global stage with two franchises.” Moreover, backlash wasn’t such a concern for the company as they had already experienced a similar occurrence through the launch of said Overwatch League franchise in the New York Excelsior. “When we launched New York Excelsior, the reaction was somewhat similar but it became one of the most beloved brands in the Overwatch League. We’re excited for that to happen in the Call of Duty League too.” Read More: Scump confirms T2P merch plans with FormaL – Elaborating on the deeper meaning behind the decision to be titled ‘Subliners,’ Gupta commented on its subtle New York connotations. “The name Subliners is born from the grit and chaos of the underground. Like our city, our team is built from the ground up to be a movement that challenges the status quo.” Regarding the logo of the franchise specifically, he expressed a sense of pride in “being visually loud” as to “draw more attention.” As practice continues behind the scenes, teams are gearing up for a heated slate of opening matches in Minnesota. The first New York Subliners match will see the team squaring off against the London Royal Ravens on January 25.

New York Subliners CDL bust-up explained: HyDra vs Crimsix feud, The Flank & more – Dexerto
New York Subliners CDL bust-up explained: HyDra vs Crimsix feud, The Flank & more Call of Duty LeagueOn August 14 at 11.59 PM PT, Call of Duty League pros whose contracts had run out, or their team options were not being extended, could enter the free agency market. While several players posted their FA status, the New York Subliners had a cataclysmic implosion broadcast for all to see on ‘The Flank’ livestream. The New York Subliners had one of the more memorable runs to Champs during the 2022 season, qualifying by the skin of their teeth with an emphatic journey through Major 4 that saw them place as runners-up to eventual world champions, LA Thieves. While things seemed fine, the team appears to have actually been on the ropes for the duration of the season, and now, finally, the players and coaches alike have spoken out, both against each other and against the situations they found themselves in. Here’s the full rundown on the New York Subliners drama as the 2022 season finally reaches its close. NYSL player beef: HyDra, Crimsix, Neptune & PaulEhx By all accounts, it seems like the dynamic between players has been flawed ever since the start, which seems plausible given the way players like Travis ‘Neptune’ McCloud and James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks were removed from the side, and their poor results prior. However, the situation ran much deeper, with accusations being thrown between players as they appeared on former CoD pro Thomas ‘ZooMaa’ Paparatto’s CDL Twitch show, The Flank. According to Paul ‘PaulEhx’ Avila, the Subliners had already started preparing for new players to come in before Major 4 had even kicked off, with Paco ‘HyDra’ Rusiewiez reportedly bringing Florida Mutineers’ franchise AR Cesar ‘Skyz’ Bueno into the team. On the subject of Neptune, Crimsix apologized for calling him “the worst sub in the league” at the start of the season, saying that he intended for it to fire the young star up, not bring him down, saying he only did it because he cared about him. HyDra also reportedly said that he was “reminded of how much he hates” his now-former teammates every time he jumped into a call with them and heard their voices. The French star accused Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter of racism over a comment made about HyDra’s Algerian heritage, reportedly asking “who cares about Algeria” when the topic came up. Crimsix claimed it was just a joke but admitted that he shouldn’t have said it. He also claimed HyDra never mentioned it when it happened, and thus wasn’t aware of how HyDra felt about it. Crimsix ended the call saying that HyDra is “dead to him” and “the coldest motherf**ker I’ve teamed with in a while.” NYSL coach & player bust-up Crimsix went on to accuse head coach Javed ‘DREAL’ Ehsan of favoritism in regards to HyDra, not receiving as much criticism for his lack of effort as the rest of the team. Not only that, but he also accused DREAL of not allowing fellow coach John ‘Revan’ Boble to speak in practice, to which DREAL responded, saying that “I didn’t say that at all” and that Revan “didn’t want to talk.” The Brit then joined the Flank call to give his side of the story, saying that Boble simply didn’t speak up when the team asked for coaches to have more input. Both Crimsix and Paul agreed that this was true. After his appearance on The Flank, DREAL responded on Twitter, saying the claims “weren’t true in the slightest” and that “we all need to hold ourselves accountable.” Crimsix posts statement apologizing & clarifying Several hours after the stream and with the CoD community still reeling from everything that had gone down, Crimsix posted a Twitlonger clarifying some of his comments as well as apologizing for what had gone down, addressing each major point one-by-one. He said he “feels awful” for his teammates for the Algeria comment and how it ended up affecting their team, claiming to be “p**sed” at HyDra for not just hashing out the issue as soon as it arose. He also addressed the Neptune apology, saying that he “feels horrible” for doing more harm than good in some cases where he’s been hard on teammates. Finally, he addressed his future, hinting that his team situation isn’t anywhere close to finalized yet. “If I don’t find a new home for 2023, just know that I am aware that I am the only one to blame as these trends and my character could be things teams want to steer clear from,” he said. “But I refuse to be anyone but myself, for good, the bad, and the ugly.” There was clearly a lot of bad blood on the Subliners roster this year, but how it affects each of their careers going forward remains to be seen. It’s fair to say that Crimsix, the unanimous GOAT of the esport, would leave a big hole if he wasn’t in the league in 2023.

New York Subliners CDL 2021 preview: Clayster and the young guns – Dexerto
New York Subliners CDL 2021 preview: Clayster and the young guns ActivisionHaving only just formed three weeks out from the 2021 Call of Duty League season, the odds are stacked against the New York Subliners this year, but could James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks lead another young squad to victory? For the newly formed NYSL lineup, there’s no denying 2021 will be an uphill battle. As a result of Thomas ‘ZooMaa’ Paparatto’s injury, which forced him to step down on January 19, the starting squad was formed considerably later than most CDL teams. Others have a few months of additional scrim time under their belts. Meanwhile, the final pieces of the New York puzzle only just fell into place at the end of January. NSYL has to build their synergy faster than everyone else but thankfully, they’ve got one of the all-time greats to help do just that. Off the back of his third championship, all eyes are on Clayster to lead this inexperienced squad. Is another ring well within reach? It’s not looking likely. But could NYSL shock the CoD scene with some great runs? It’s entirely possible. NYSL CDL 2021 roster How the 2021 NYSL roster came together The announcement that CoD would be switching back to 4v4 came just 24 hours after Clayster secured his latest championship under the Empire banners. With this major shakeup, the 28-year-old veteran was suddenly dropped from the team. After a short period of searching for a new home, Clayster found himself at the Subliners. However, the lineup was a little different at that point in time. He joined alongside Mack and ZooMaa as they looked to fill out the final starting spot. Four months later, after ZooMaa stepped back, the roster was complete. Now, Clayster joins each lobby with three relatively new stars by his side. Extremely proud to announce I’m a part of the @andbox_official family on the @Subliners for the CDL 2021 Season alongside @ZooMaa & @MackMelts. Lets get this bread! pic.twitter.com/zDM10XRqYw — Clayster (@Clayster) September 18, 2020 Mack only just kicked off his competitive career in 2019’s Modern Warfare. After an impressive start in the Challengers circuit, he quickly joined the Subliners in the inaugural CDL season. During his first pro year, he secured multiple Top Four finishes and even a Home Series win in Week 11. With a contract extension locked in, he’ll be continuing his run with brand new teammates at NYSL. Asim has been around for a little while longer but not by a great deal. After a brief stint competing in online Black Ops 4 tournaments, he soon found his way to the FaZe Clan Black amateur team in 2018 before transitioning onto the CWL pro roster the following year. What came next was a relatively inconsistent stretch with the Minnesota ROKKR who ended with a Top 10 finish in the 2020 Champs event. With a year of CDL play under his belt, Asim is the second most experienced member on the new NYSL lineup after Clayster. Rounding out the starting squad is Diamondcon, the biggest question mark on the revamped roster. The 20-year-old Canadian made a name for himself in the 2020 NA Challengers circuit. He played with Cup winners Sixth Gear and eventual Challengers Champs winners Triumph. Though 2021 marks his first year competing at the professional level. He transitioned onto the NYSL CDL roster at the last minute after being recruited for their Academy team. With just a few weeks to gel before the first official games, it’s near impossible to gauge just how he’ll adjust to the step-up in competition. Though an early glimpse at the Kickoff Classic showed brighter signs than most were expecting. The spotlight is on Clayster to lead New York There were just two days between NYSL’s formation and their first match of 2021. While the Kickoff Classic was purely an exhibition, and New York had the toughest first outing possible against Dallas, the team still managed to look rather solid. Despite being a 0-3 loss, the new team still performed admirably. The opening Hardpoint on Garrison came down to just a 60 point difference. They even managed to take rounds from Empire in SnD and Control. All of this with barely a few hours of in-game time together. Obviously, Empire wouldn’t have put all too much stock into this initial showcase. Though NYSL came out swinging with just a few days of practice behind them. This showing alone proves they can’t be taken lightly in what’s shaping up to be an extremely competitive year. Clayster has already been gassing his young teammates online since this opening match. “The improvement in the squad is something fierce,” he tweeted on Jan. 30. If anyone knows how to get the best out of up and coming prospects, it’s Clay. From his remarkable eUnited run alongside Chris ‘Simp’ Lehr and Tyler ‘aBezy’ Pharris to his following year with fresh talent like Anthony ‘Shotzzy’ Cuevas-Castro at Empire, he’s proven to be an invaluable asset among fresh lineups. Absolutely phenomenal day of scrims today, the improvement in the squad is something fierce. — Clayster (@Clayster) January 30, 2021 There’s no guarantee he’ll be winning a Major this year, let alone securing his fourth ring, but there’s no denying Clayster is the one who can bring the most out of the new NYSL lineup. With each passing event, these players will only be improving. NYSL will be building synergy, getting more comfortable in big gunfights, and generally feeling sharper when the spotlight is on. They might not have experience behind them, but they certainly shouldn’t be counted out for all of 2021.

New York Subliners reveal new CDL 2021 “Deadass” calling card – Dexerto
New York Subliners reveal new CDL 2021 “Deadass” calling card Call of Duty League / Pexels, David SkyriusThe New York Subliners have officially announced an upcoming “Deadass” calling card, commemorating the Call of Duty League’s 2021 season and New York City’s patented slogan. New Yorkers often seem to speak their own language. The concrete jungle possesses a unique breed of linguistics that defies conventional tropes. And, fittingly, the CDL’s New York team is reflecting that in an upcoming Calling Card. Like a number of CDL cosmetics across Warzone, Black Ops Cold War, and Modern Warfare, the Subliners’ “Deadass” Calling Card will likely be available throughout CoD’s various titles. That’s exciting for New Yorkers, but also for other cities’ fans — as this reveal suggests more team Calling Cards could be on the way. New York, quite literally, announced the upcoming addition on Twitter, with a series of the city’s citizens saying the now-iconic word. While they were filmed saying it around Manhattan’s Union Square, players will soon be able to represent it throughout Verdansk and Nuketown. NYSL “Deadass” calling card: release date & how to get Let’s run that back one time. The best calling card in the history of Call of Duty. Coming to the Call of Duty Store on May 11 at 1PM ET. Deadass. pic.twitter.com/RXHaQ0qcAh — Subliners (@Subliners) May 5, 2021 The Calling Card will be made available on May 11 at 1 p.m. ET and fans will be able to log into the Call of Duty store to secure it. That store is available in each of the franchise’s titles, as players simply need to scroll down to the “Franchise Store” section to find it. At the moment, it is unclear how much the cosmetic will cost or if it will be part of another bundle. Like CoD’s “Ego Chall” and “Turn Me Up” cosmetics, this one is exciting because it reflects slang tied directly to a community. Now, CDL fans simply have to wonder if this announcement means that other city-specific cosmetics are coming to their favorite games. Will there be more CDL 2021 team cosmetics? In the past, CDL teams have received cosmetics in bundles — with each team getting their own skins, camos, and signature stickers. Similarly, CDL Champs received an entire array of cosmetics solely for the event. With that in mind, it’s likely that this announcement will be followed by similar announcements of city-specific cosmetics. There has been no official word on other upcoming CDL cosmetics as of yet, but you can be sure that fans will be eager to find out more — especially if they’re all unique to their cities.

New York Subliners add Crimsix to finalize CDL 2022 roster – Dexerto
New York Subliners add Crimsix to finalize CDL 2022 roster CDL/ NYSLThe New York Subliners have cemented their roster for the Call of Duty League 2022 season. The final piece to the concrete jungle’s puzzle is Crimsix, who reunites with Clayster and joins two talented sophomore SMGs. It was clear that the Subliners would be shaking up their roster for CDL 2022 after a sloppy ending to 2021. That shift gained momentum in September, when a new four was rumored for NYSL. Over a month later, those rumors have come true. Piece by piece, the Subliners have announced their four franchise cornerstones: two veteran champions and two highly touted sophomores. With James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks and Paco ‘HyDra’ Rusiewiez re-signed, New York proceeded to bring in Travis ‘Neptune’ McCloud and Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter, from Florida Mutineers and Dallas Empire respectively. The new lineup is as mixed a bag as any, with both experience and inexperience — making it an intriguing squad for 2022. Now, with the Empire disbanding, New York was able to reunite the pair of multi-time CoD champions. Those two are joined by two of the league’s most promising 2021 rookies: HyDra and the former Florida Mutineer, Neptune. The latter has big shoes to fill, as the wily submachine gunner will replace fan-favorite Obaid ‘Asim’ Asim. New York, Paris Call of Duty League franchise logos and branding leaked – Dexerto
New York, Paris Call of Duty League franchise logos and branding leaked Activision-Blizzard / PixabayBranding information and logos for the New York and Paris franchises have potentially been revealed, after recently filed trademark applications were discovered ahead of the Call of Duty esports is currently undergoing a major transition to a franchised model ahead of the 2020 season, with 12 organizations already confirmed for the inaugural campaign. While some player signings have already been announced for the competition’s new format, including most of New York’s and London’s rosters, as well as Paris’ Australian-heavy lineup, little is known about the official team branding for the dozen teams. Information revealed by official trademark filings in public records has revealed that New York’s franchise could potentially be called the Subliners, while Paris’ branding will be based around the Legion moniker. New York’s leaked branding seems to be a reference to the city’s immense subway system, and is coated blue and yellow. Legion’s logo — a red and orange embossed fleur-de-lis — also taps into their cultural identity by using the former royal coat of arms of France. 600These applications were found filed with EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) and revealed by CDL Intel on Twitter. The leaks hold weight considering it is the same trademark platform where Florida’s potential branding and logo were discovered on October 5. Unlike Florida’s extensive goods and services listing, which covered clothing, headgear, entertainment services, jewelry, and more, Paris’ EUIPO entry only covered “computer video game software” and a host of computer peripheral keywords. 600While many have already begun discussing the Subliners and the Legion as confirmed names, it’s worth noting this information does not 100% confirm that New York and Paris will play under these titles and images, despite being found in an official filing. Envy Gaming chief executive Mike ‘Hastr0’ Rufail lifted the lid on the processes franchises are currently undergoing, following Dallas’ potential name leak. He explained that the organizations have been filing “several names, domains, and branding assets” to provide a number of options ahead of the final decision. If Hastr0’s actions with the Dallas franchise hold true for the New York and Paris backroom plans as well, Call of Duty fans may see the two teams enter into the 2020 season with very different branding altogether, especially if the community reacts poorly to the leaked designs. For now, all fans can do is speculate on the upcoming announcements. With no official news from the 12 franchised teams, or league organizers Activision-Blizzard, it’s a waiting game for those wanting to see the exact makeup of the CDL’s inaugural year.

The team have already announced the acquisitions of Tommy ‘ZooMaa’ Paparatto, Donovan ‘Temp’ Laroda, and Lamar ‘Accuracy’ Abedi, and now the Englishman Zer0 and former World Champion Attach are the latest players to sign on to the project. In a pair of tweets sent out by New York on Friday, September 26, the franchise confirmed they were happy to bring in the two stars, calling them a “welcome addition” to the team. Zer0 appeared in a video message, stating: “Ever since New York was announced as a spot, I had to come here. It was my desired destination. I hope you guys continue to support me as a player, support the organization, support the roster we put together. It’s a really good roster, and I’m excited to be a part of it. We’re excited to have him round out our stacked lineup and bring a Championship to New York. pic.twitter.com/xCFvUx065i — Call of Duty NYC (@CWL_NYC) September 27, 2019 Zer0 is a veteran of the Call of Duty scene, first competing back in 2015. Following a spell at Splyce and Red Reserve, the Brit signed on with FaZe Clan in April 2019, representing the legendary organization their CWL Pro League campaign, with the squad finishing third at Playoffs, but a disappointing 13-16 at CWL Champs. With the move, the 22-year-old will link up again with ZooMaa, who were teammates on FaZe’s roster throughout much of the Black Ops 4 season, and now heading into Modern Warfare and the franchised league. As for Attach, his exemplary resume speaks for itself. Since winning the 2015 Call of Duty Chamionship with Denial Esports, he’s been considered one of the best players in the scene, even when he had to go out on loan to Evil Geniuses from FaZe midway through the 2019 season. He too will be reuniting with ZooMaa after a brief spell apart, reforming a powerful duo that led FaZe for over four years. New weapons & map coming to Modern Warfare & Warzone in next update – Dexerto
New weapons & map coming to Modern Warfare & Warzone in next update Infinity WardDevelopers Infinity Ward have revealed some of the new content coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, including four weapons, a new multiplayer map, and more. With Warzone still being all the hype in the online gaming world, everyone’s attention is on Infinity Ward to see what they have in store as the game enters its third week of existence. The developers have announced another weekly update for March 24, one that will introduce new content to both the battle royale and regular multiplayer in Modern Warfare. What’s coming to Warzone? For Warzone, four weapons will be added to the loot pool: the 725, MK2 Carbine, .50 GS, and EBR-14. These will come as both Common and Uncommon rarities, with each having “distinct strengths in its class.” Of course, weapons found from default loot aren’t as important in this game as in other BRs, mainly because most players will gather enough Cash to buy a Loadout Drop as soon as possible so they can use their own custom classes. Nothing else has been confirmed other than these guns, but fans should expect the upcoming patch to also include a slew of fixes, several of which have already been confirmed by Infinity Ward. What’s coming to Modern Warfare multiplayer? As for Modern Warfare multiplayer, a new 6v6 map called Khandor Hideout is being introduced. Activision described it as a “medium-sized map in Urzikistan that supports 6v6 play and has long sightlines and interior spaces to complement diverse combat ranges.” This will be the third new map added as part of Season 2, after Rust and Atlas Superstore, so it’s likely to be the last one until S3 kicks off in early April. Last but not least, a brand new Operator called Talon will be joining the Coalition. Talon will be available via a bundle that includes two Legendary weapon blueprints and a Finishing Move that involves his “fierce, combat-ready” dog named Sasquatch. When does this update go live? This update will launch on Tuesday, March 24, but at the unusual time of 11 PM PT / 2 AM ET / 6 AM GMT (on March 25). Infinity Ward have traditionally released their patches earlier in the day, but with so many people at home playing nowadays, they’re trying to figure out the best way to get these updates out without causing major issues to servers and connectivity.

New weapons leaked for Warzone & Cold War Season 3: Skorpion, FAL, more – Dexerto
New weapons leaked for Warzone & Cold War Season 3: Skorpion, FAL, more ActivisionFans eager for news about Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 3 should have some new pieces of information to bite into. Recent leaks suggest new weapons could be on the way, including the Skorpion and FAL. In a recent video, prominent Call of Duty leaker TheGamingRevolution dove into all of the leaks that have been assembled so far ahead of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone’s Season 3. Based on data-mined files and odd in-game appearances, the YouTuber — who has been right about leaks in the past — compiled the new weapons fans could expect in the third season. New weapon leaks for Warzone & Cold War Season 3 (For mobile users, segment begins at 9:43) While the Galil, which was most recently seen in Black Ops 3 and 4, was initially data-mined and speculated about — Gaming Revolution has a theory as to why it won’t be a Season 3 addition. Namely, the gun was discussed prior to Season 2, at which point the FARA 83 was released. Given the weapons’ similarities, the YouTuber believes that file was misnamed and solely a placeholder for the eventual FARA. Read more: Is Warzone changing engines with new map? – As far as actual upcoming guns, he singles out some other interesting candidates: the Skorpion SMG, CZ75 pistol, Dragunov sniper rifle and FAL tactical rifle. The Skorpion SMG is likely the most alluring of the guns mentioned, and GamingRevolution confirms that it’s “the classic one that we saw in Black Ops 1.” Both the Dragunov and FAL exist in Modern Warfare and Warzone, but we have seen Cold War double up on guns like the MP5 and AK-47 as well, so that doesn’t disqualify them. Interestingly, the YouTuber explains that a “wall-buy outline” has been found for the FAL in Zombies, as opposed to traditional data-mined files. Of course, as GamingRevolution mentions numerous times and as all fans should be aware of by now, files in a game don’t mean anything concrete. Most of these weapon files have existed since the game’s inception and could just be holdovers from files of earlier games. No one can take leaked files as gospel just yet, but it is interesting to know that there is serious potential some of these weapons could make their way into Cold War and Warzone for Season 3.

New Weapon Mastery Calling Cards & Emblems leaked in Modern Warfare – Dexerto
New Weapon Mastery Calling Cards & Emblems leaked in Modern Warfare Infinity Ward / CoD TrackerCall of Duty dataminers have found and leaked the visuals for new weapon Mastery Calling Cards and Emblems that will soon be releasing in Modern Warfare. Rewards and cosmetic items for mastering guns have always been popular in pretty much every Call of Duty title that they’ve been added to, and it looks like the next one will be Modern Warfare. They give players additional in-game goals to strive for, so that all the completionists out there can have new objectives to complete after finishing all the day-one challenges. On May 19, courtesy of CoD leakers, a bunch of never-before-seen Calling Cards and Emblems surfaced online – complete sets for each gun that’s currently in the game. Each set includes both a Calling Card and Emblem for unlocking Gold, Platinum, Damascus, as well as the recently-added Obsidian mastery camo. The Emblems are everything that someone would want in the design – they’re shiny, metallic, and animated, giving players another way to boast about their in-game accomplishments. While the Calling Cards aren’t animated, they feature a similarly elegant look that will let all of your opponents in the lobby know that you’re someone to fear once that match begins. Hundreds of them have been leaked – eight for each gun – and you can check out the entire collection by visiting CoD Tracker. While this may be our first look at these new mastery rewards, the fact that they exist isn’t a surprise. Joel Emslie, Art Director at Infinity Ward, had teased this feature a while back, saying that it was under development and would be released at some point down the line. Read More: You can now open the vaults in Warzone – They definitely look finished, but the only question remains is when they’ll be rolled out in-game. Considering that the Obsidian mastery camo was released midway through Season 3 means that Infinity Ward wouldn’t shy away from doing the same with these. However, they could also be something that the developers may want to save for Season 4 so that the game’s next chapter will introduce a flashy new addition for players to enjoy.

New weapon in Black Ops 4 could be named after OpTic Gaming’s Karma – Dexerto
New weapon in Black Ops 4 could be named after OpTic Gaming’s Karma It looks as though Treyarch will be honoring OpTic Gaming’s pro Call of Duty player Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow in the massive update coming to Black Ops 4. The ‘Operation Absolute Zero’ content drop in Black Ops 4 will be going live on Tuesday, December 11 and it contains three brand new weapons, one of which is the Daemon 3XB Submachine Gun. While Treyarch have not explicitly confirmed or announced anything, many fans have made the connection between the new SMG’s name and OpTic’s Karma. The first sign is the first half of the weapon’s name, Daemon, which is spelled differently than Karma’s first name but pronounced very similarly. While that, on its own, is not a clear-cut sign that there is a connection, the latter half of the gun’s name gives it away. The 3XB could very well be a reference to the fact that Karma is the first and only Call of Duty pro player ever to have won three World Championships. Add that to the fact that Karma’s last name, Barlow, starts with a B, and you get a clear connection between Daemon 3XB and Karma ‘the 3X champ’ Barlow. This theory has spread around the CoD community like wildfire, and even OpTic Gaming are starting to believe it to be true, as they tweeted out a picture of Karma photo-shopped as a soldier wielding the new SMG. Operation Absolute Zero? @Treyarch Daemon 3XB? @OpTic_DKarmaWe see what you’re getting at @CallofDuty. pic.twitter.com/ooWvKjtWKt — OpTic Gaming™ (@OpTicGaming) December 10, 2018 Maybe the community will never get a straight answer from Treyarch as to whether the Daemon 3XB SMG is named after the three-time champ. One thing that is for sure, however, is the fact that the new SMG, along with the SWAT RFT assault rifle and Secret Santa melee weapon, will be added to Black Ops 4 when Operation Absolute Zero drops on December 11 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. The massive new DLC will be bringing new content and major changes to all three game modes – Multiplayer, Blackout, and Zombies – including a brand new Specialist, a new location on the Blackout map, weapon tuning and balancing, a revamp to the Black Market, and more. Make sure to follow us @DexertoINTEL and keep an eye on the Dexerto Call of Duty page for any new information and details about Operation Absolute Zero, including full patch notes, breakdown of all additions and changes, and more.

New Warzone update removes helicopters & adds Juggourdnaut Royale – Dexerto
New Warzone update removes helicopters & adds Juggourdnaut Royale ActivisionInfinity Ward has pushed out a new playlist update for both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone and while it adds some modes to the game like Juggourdnaut Royale, it also removes helicopters from the night-version of its battle royale. [jwplayer L7zZP3SQ] New playlist updates for Modern Warfare and Warzone, generally speaking, only change out the gamemodes in the game, but today’s is a bit special. According to some notes released by Infinity Ward, the new hotfix removes two major aspects of the title. The first is the removal of helicopters from the night version of Verdansk, which is pretty major to say the least. Currently, it’s unclear exactly why Infinity Ward made this change, as they didn’t specify in their tweet. It could be due to a bug, low visibility, or something else entirely. In addition, the developer also removed the pumpkin heads due to a bug occurring, although exactly what that bug is was also not made clear. It’s also undetermined if this removal also affects the pumpkin heads on the juggernaut suit, which automatically has the head attached when you put it on. Beyond these removals however, the update also adds a new mode, Juggourdnaut Royale. Despite the name being a bit different, this is the exact same mode as Juggernaut Royale, which was added to the game during Season 4. Players have to fight over juggernaut suits located around the map in order to survive. Today’s playlist update is now live across all platforms! – Disabling the pumpkin heads due to a bug – Disabling the helicopter in the night version of Verdansk#Warzone – BR Solo Survivor – Juggourdnaut Royale – Plunder: Candy Collector— Infinity Ward (@InfinityWard) October 23, 2020 On top of that, Infinity Ward also added BR Solo Survivor and Plunder: Candy Collector to the rotation, both of which appear to be renamed versions of the standard modes. It’ll be interesting to see how long it takes the developers to re-add the helicopter and pumpkin heads to the game. While the former has obviously been in the game from the start, the latter is a nice seasonal treat that will only be around for a couple more weeks.

New Warzone tracer bundle disabled after causing games to crash – Dexerto
New Warzone tracer bundle disabled after causing games to crash ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone’s devs have disabled the new Year of the Tiger Lunar New Year bundle after it started causing players’ games to completely crash. They’ve also explained that they’re working on a fix. To celebrate the Lunar New Year, Warzone and Vanguard both added a new Tracer bundle: the Year of the Tiger pack. It comes with an STG-44 blueprint, a watch, two weapon charms, and two calling cards. Unfortunately, while many were likely excited to embrace the festivities and bring out the red and gold tracer rounds, the bundle comes with some literally game-breaking bugs. In a February 1 tweet, developers Raven Software revealed that they’re aware of the Tiger bundle causing players’ Warzone games to crash. In response, it has been disabled entirely while they work on a fix. New Warzone bundle causing games to crash ❗️We’re aware of an issue causing Players to crash while using contents from Tracer Pack: Year of the Tiger. This Store Bundle has been disabled in #Warzone until further notice.https://t.co/JzeiSQGEW0 — Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) February 1, 2022 As Raven explained in their tweet, there is “an issue causing players to crash while using contents from Tracer Pack: Year of the Tiger.” They elaborated that the bundle is now disabled in-game “until further notice.” Further details on their Trello board reveal that the issue is currently being “investigated” across all platforms (PlayStation, Xbox, and PC). Coming in at 1,000 CoD Points, the Year of the Tiger bundle costs players around $10 to acquire (unless they saved up points from earlier seasons). With the Lunar New Year taking place on February 1, this is most certainly not an ideal time for the bundle to be bugged. It remains to be seen when the issue will be fixed, but players will hope that it’s sooner than later so they can start celebrating the new year in style. When it is eventually fixed, Raven will likely both update their Trello board as well as share an update on Twitter.

New Warzone teaser & leaks hint at night mode coming soon – Dexerto
New Warzone teaser & leaks hint at night mode coming soon Infinity WardCall of Duty Warzone players will be delighted to know Infinity Ward are now teasing the arrival of a night mode for the battle royale game, appearing to confirm previously leaked information. The game is right up there with the most popular battle royale titles around, alongside Apex Legends and Fortnite, mostly due to the constant addition of new content from developers. Every week there is something big happening, new weapons to play with, or Black Ops Cold War teasers to discover in-game. Next up, a night time Warzone mode finally looks to be on the cards. CoD Warzone night mode coming in Season 6? The Nightfall game mode was previously leaked by ModernWarzone, on September 2. The account posted a series of shots sent in by a user, suggesting people take it all with a pinch of salt at first. They had also referenced the discovery of Nightfall solos, duos, and trios and quads being found in a data mine. The images showed characters standing on the plane with green lights behind them, basically in total darkness. That could soon be their fate in Warzone, too, if it’s added. Looking forward, the next major refresh for the game would be the launch of Season 6, so we may have to wait a little longer to see if this one comes to fruition. It looks set to launch between late September and early October. 🚨 BREAKING 🚨 A user sent us these images of what appears to be the first look at the nightfall mode in #Warzone! We will let you decide for yourselves whether these are real or fake, none of this is from an inside source or the files. #CallOfDuty #ModernWarfare pic.twitter.com/SkZodCjBi5 — ModernWarzone (@ModernWarzone) September 2, 2020 Potential Warzone Nightfall teaser appears on Facebook It didn’t take long for the dev team to respond with a teaser of their own, posted two days later on their official Call of Duty Facebook page. The post included a few pieces of Warzone artwork, including one very interesting piece set in the dark. These were put together by artists Giovanni Timpano, Roberto Recchioni, Giacomo Bevilacqua, and Riccardo Torti from Italy. Since a night mode hasn’t been seen before, you can’t blame fans for getting ahead of themselves here. The post does not mention anything about a night mode coming soon. However, it could be the first domino to fall for this previously leaked mode. Just like many CoD Warzone players, we will be keeping an eye out for more teasers and reporting them. Stick with us on Twitter @DexertoIntel for more leaks, Black Ops Cold War news, and more.

New Warzone teaser hints at Zombies takeover ahead of leaked nuke event – Dexerto
New Warzone teaser hints at Zombies takeover ahead of leaked nuke event ActivisionA brand-new teaser from Activision seems to be hinting that zombies, which were previously restricted to one spot, will slowly but surely be making their way throughout Verdansk in Warzone, which may lead directly into a leaked game mode. If you’ve been wanting to fight the undead in Warzone, but find it hard to accomplish due to the fact that they’re restricted to one area, then there may be some good news in store for you soon. On March 5, 2021, Activision posted a parody news report about the zombies in Verdansk over on Call of Duty’s official Twitter account. The tweet itself says that the undead have been seen “exiting the Warzone shipwreck,” where they were previously being held. While the video and teaser is pretty funny, this seems to hint that the zombies in Verdansk are going to slowly spread across the city. Zombies originally joined the game with the Shipwreck POI back at the start of Season 2, so if they’re expanding to the rest of the map, that could mean some major changes to how the game is played going forward. Most notable, however, is that this may hint at something greater. Back on March 4, audio files for a Warzone mode called Plague were leaked and include voice lines about Verdansk being “overrun” and that players will have to take it back. Some lines from the mode also say that the city is “lost,” before confirming that a nuke in inbound for the island. https://twitter.com/CallofDuty/status/1367920417587875840?s=20 Many are speculating that the aforementioned mode will be the end of the current Verdansk map as we know it and if that’s the case then this Zombies expansion could be the first step in getting a brand-new map in the game. Of course, some of this is a bit speculative but it seems to line up perfectly. Between that and the inclusion of the Zombies trials machines in the Verdansk that appeared before the game’s Season 2 launch, it seems inevitable at this point that the undead will be roaming across the city soon. Of course, we’ll just have to wait and see.

New Warzone Stim glitch is completely ruining 1v1s – Dexerto
New Warzone Stim glitch is completely ruining 1v1s ActivisionA Call of Duty: Warzone Stim glitch seems to be making the item perform in a way that isn’t completely outlined, leading many to believe that the equipment is malfunctioning in Warzone. Stims have been one of Warzone’s most popular items since the game launched as their ability to provide almost instantaneous healing has proven to be a huge temptation. The allure of quick health to get you straight back into a gunfight has been too good to pass up. But also during the Stim’s lifetime, Warzone has been subjected to multiple instances of the dreaded Stim glitch, and players have also learned to skillfully use it to endure the gas for even longer. Recently though, it seems like the advertised effects of the Stim are not working as stated. Warzone Stim not working properly? The official description for the Stim is as follows: “Military stimulant that cauterizes combat wounds and refreshes Tactical Sprint.” Traditionally, when you’ve got no plates and you’re sustaining damage, a Stim is the quick, pick-me-up you need to replenish some health. They can be essential to winning 1v1s, but an example of Stim use has confused a Redditor: “Can someone explain to me why my Stim didn’t work?” In their video, the player had no plates, they were getting shot, and had around 10-15% health. In a potential last act of desperation, the player used the Stim, and their health remained exactly the same. Unbeknownst to the player, they confronted the enemy, believing they had a full bar of health, and immediately got destroyed. Replies to the post suggested that it might not be a glitch and it’s a deliberate move from Raven Software as the player actually has the Speed Boost perk. “Stims don’t work for some reason when you have the speed boost,” said one player, whereas another chimed in saying: “I believe they changed it so it stops healing when you get shot, which tbh is what it should be, one of the streamers put around 20 rounds into a person’s head with an Owen gun and point-blank range when they were pushing him and the guy didn’t drop below 60% health the whole time, they were very broken before.” The player was definitely under fire, but they used the Stim in a quiet moment during the skirmish, so it’s hard to tell if this was the cause. But it does seem odd that a Stim will only refresh the Speed Boost and not the person’s health. We’ll continue to monitor this and see if players experience any other weird scenarios with Stims.

New Warzone Stim glitch brings Night Vision Goggles to Verdansk – Dexerto
New Warzone Stim glitch brings Night Vision Goggles to Verdansk ActivisionThe infinite Stim exploit has, apparently, once again made a return to Call of Duty: Warzone if a new Reddit video is to be believed — and it seems to have brought with it a strange addition: Night Vision Goggles from the Modern Warfare campaign. If you’re hoping that the Infinite Stim Shot glitch that’s been plaguing Warzone for a while now was gone for good, you’re going to be sorely disappointed. According to a new video posted to Reddit, the now-infamous Stim glitch has once again reared its ugly head in the popular battle royale. The exploit was previously discovered and patched multiple times over the past few months, but it just can’t seem to stay dead. Some have even figured out how to stack a near-endless amount of Stim Shots without needing to pull off any glitched mechanics. The video in question shows a player running through the gas in Verdansk, using the Stim multiple times in order to keep themself alive, screwing over players with competitive integrity in the process. This is the same exploit that others have taken advantage of for months on months. What’s different, however, is that this video seems to show the player using Night Vision Goggles (NVG) as well — an item which, at least as of the time of this writing, isn’t a part of Warzone. Read More: Best FR.556 loadout for Call of Duty: Mobile – These do, however, make an appearance in the main story campaign of Modern Warfare (2019), most notably in the missions Clean House and The Wolf’s Den, as well as the game’s standard multiplayer in Night Mode, which transformed standard multiplayer maps into nighttime versions. As for why they show up in this glitch video, no one really knows. Could this new infinite Stim exploit allow you to use NVG in Warzone? Possibly. The fact that no one in the post’s comments section can seem to figure out how the player activates them is leading some to believe that it’s somehow part of the glitch. Interestingly, the player in question is hacking with aimbot at the very least so it’s possible that they have also used a cheat to enable a PC’s “N” key (used for NVG in the campaign) to give night vision in Warzone as well. Whatever reason, it seems like the infinite Stim glitch is back in some way, shape or form, which is sure to anger fans who just want to see it gone. Hopefully this issue is, once again, addressed soon, and for good this time.

New Warzone Starter Pack coming in Season 4 Reloaded update – Dexerto
New Warzone Starter Pack coming in Season 4 Reloaded update Infinity WardA new bundle is coming to Warzone in the Modern Warfare Season 4 Reloaded patch, featuring a Legendary blueprint, a heap of COD Points, a skin for Krueger and more. Modern Warfare’s fourth season is in full swing, but the team behind its battle royale are going to give newer players a helping hand with a pack containing enough content to get them on their way. The bundle will cost $4.99, or a “regional equivalent” as Activision says, and will give players a bit of flair to take with them in their firefights across Verdansk. The contents of the Warzone Starter Pack are as follows: 500 COD Points – Legendary Shotgun Blueprint – Amalgam – Epic Krueger Skin – Alchemist – Epic Calling Card – Breathing Easy – Epic Emblem – Vulture Culture – 2x 1 Hour 2x XP Tokens – First, people who opt into the purchase will have their currency essentially traded into COD Points with 500 in-game currency boosting their digital wallets. After that, there’s a ton of content to sift through starting with the highlight of the bundle, Legendary Shotgun Blueprint – Amalgam. The weapon comes with five attachments that makes it ready for most types of combat, though you’ll still need to level it for more options to customize it. For fans of the Allegiance Operator, there’s going to be an Epic Krueger skin called The Alchemist. Skins are one of the many ways to get the most out of Warzone’s customization, so it could be a welcomed addition for new players. Along with the skin, the pack will give people an Epic Calling Card and Epic Emblem called Breathing Easy and Vulture Culture, respectively. Finally and fittingly, the Starter Pack is giving new fans two tokens for one-hour double XP. This will let players boost their Battle Pass tier rate and weapon levels, simultaneously. The new Warzone bundle will be a huge thrust for people still looking to get a jumpstart in their battle royale progression without breaking the bank. As even more maps and modes were announced for Season 4 Reloaded, there should be plenty for fresh players to get into the mix of everything Modern Warfare has to offer.

New Warzone sniper reticle breaks the game completely – Dexerto
New Warzone sniper reticle breaks the game completely ActivisionA new Warzone bug is causing the title’s framerate to completely plummet, so much so that it nearly breaks the whole game, and it seems to be due to the use of a certain optic sight on sniper rifles. At this point, bugs in Warzone are not only unsurprising, they’re expected. It seems that every time there’s an update, a new game game-breaking bug shows up or an old one rears its ugly head. Now, a new bug affecting the battle royale game seems to bring down the framerate to unplayable levels. The bug was first discovered by Reddit user eggybread_1, whose game’s framerate suddenly dropped to unplayable levels as soon as he equipped the Tundra sniper rifle. This happened while he was dropping into Verdansk and the bug even stopped him from opening his parachute, meaning he crashed right into the earth. Cold War Bullseye reticle breaking Warzone? Interestingly enough, after the player crashed and was put into the downed state, they were able to change their class and fire their assault rifle, which also isn’t normal. Then, once the player in the video unequipped the Tundra and chose a different class mid-game, the framerate went back to normal, making the situation all the more perplexing and frustrating. Upon further inspection by the community, it seems like the problem comes down to the Bullseye optic reticle, which can be equipped onto any Black Ops Cold War sniper rifle. This has been confirmed and replicated by other players so it’s a pretty widespread issue. The Bullseye reticle was added to the game as a part of the Black Ops Cold War Season 1 battle pass, where players could it unlock it at Tier 88. The reticle hasn’t caused issues until now so these framerate problems are a bit odd. As of the time of this writing, neither Raven nor Activision have commented on the bug so it’s unknown how long it’ll be before the issue gets fixed. It’s also unknown if this is tied to one specific platform or if everyone can be affected. Until then, players should be wary about using this reticle.

New Warzone SMG might be the best backup weapon – Dexerto
New Warzone SMG might be the best backup weapon Treyarch/ActivisionThe Cold War AK47 is considered the meta sniper support weapon in Warzone Season 6, but it may be time to put it down and pick up the underrated LAPA SMG. With the Swiss K31 and Kar98k being the two most popular weapons in Warzone, it’s essential that you have a top-tier sniper support secondary to pair alongside them. While the majority of players will default to either the Cold War AK47 or the XM4, YouTuber TrueGameData believes it may be time to start using the LAPA. Since being released in Season 6, this pint-sized SMG has gone under the radar for the majority of players – but with the right loadout, it can be absolutely lethal at close to mid-range. TrueGameData’s sniper support LAPA loadout Finding a top-tier sniper support weapon in Warzone can be difficult, especially if you want mobility alongside damage at close to mid-range. Luckily, TrueGameData seems to have found the answer, with a LAPA class that allows you to close the distance on an enemy that you’ve tagged from afar. With the Agency Suppressor in the muzzle slot and the M03 Reinforced barrel equipped, the SMG shreds at medium range, while also maintaining a manageable recoil pattern. Not only that, the Microflex LED allows you to land all of your shots consistently and make use of the gun’s solid TTK at close quarters. Attachments Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Ammunition: STANAG 50 Rnd – Barrel: M03 Reinforced – Optic: Microflex LED – Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight – Picking up an SMG as a sniper support instead of an AR unlocks a lot of mobility, and with LAPA having the highest movement speed in the game, it allows you to play aggressively and actively look for gunfights. Don’t forget to change up the build to fit your play style, as loadouts all come down to preference and experimenting with different attachments.

Warzone Season 5 trailer teases even bigger squad sizes coming soon – Dexerto
Warzone Season 5 trailer teases even bigger squad sizes coming soon Infinity WardWarzone could be getting a new five-player mode, as eagle-eyed Call of Duty fans appear to have spotted a subtle tease for even bigger squad sizes in the latest Season 5 trailer. Throughout the first four seasons, Warzone has been capped at four-player squads. The Modern Warfare battle royale currently allows for solos, duos, trios, and quads to drop into Verdansk, but teams could soon be adding an additional player to their group, if Season 5 teasers hold true. The upcoming 36.18 GB patch is set to release on August 5. It comes boasting all-new map changes, a moving train, and even ziplines. While fresh Operators and weapons are also up for grabs in the Season 5 Battle Pass, new playlists are yet to be confirmed. There’s no telling how the core experience will be shaken up in limited-time playlists. That said, one one upcoming fixture appears to have been spotted already. Read More: MW dev teases weapon inspecting in Season 5 – Infinity Ward co-studio head Patrick Kelly teased a 200-player, five-player Warzone mode back in March. Now, it seems that the enormous mode could finally be making its way to the popular battle royale. In the midst of a bombastic Season 5 trailer, a few extremely attentive fans spotted something out of the ordinary. A helicopter was flying over the stadium before the roof was blown to bits. While it was descending, it looked like five Operators were all riding in the vehicle at once. Four characters can be seen sitting at the sides of the chopper. Meanwhile, one additional player is seen navigating through a thick cloud of smoke from the blast. Another angle gives an overhead view to all but confirm that five players can share the one vehicle in Season 5. If previous tests are finally reaching the live version of the game, 200 players could soon take over Verdansk. 40 squads of five players would drastically change the flow of a typical Warzone match. With more players teaming than ever before, each gunfight could last quite a while. If a third party gets involved there could be up to 15 players firing all at once. It’s worth noting that while five players can be seen together, there’s no telling how it will function in-game. It could be a permanent fixture as a standard playlist. It could also just be a special, limited-time mode to begin with. There’s also no confirmation the five-player variant will be available at launch, unfortunately, and there’s a chance it could be added down the line as Season 5 progresses. Keep your eyes peeled over the coming days as the huge update draws near. If you’re a PlayStation user, you can even start your download early to jump right in as Season 5 rolls over.

New Warzone Season 3 Nuke Radiation Zones are turning players into Zombies – Dexerto
New Warzone Season 3 Nuke Radiation Zones are turning players into Zombies ActivisionWith Season 3 just around the corner in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War & Warzone, Raven Software have added another new Radiation Zones to Hospital that’s turning players into zombies if they spend too much time inside. A lot is happening in Verdansk and fast, as Warzone prepares of the launch of Season 3 and all of the new content and major changes its expected to bring to the battle royale. On April 15, Activision announced that the ongoing zombie contamination on Verdansk had reached 100%, leading to the addition of giant Radiation Zones, indicated on the map with giant red circles around the logo for radiation/nuclear activity. Once you’re inside the boundaries of the circles, everything suddenly takes on a greenish hue, which is the radiation that also deals damage, meaning you can die if you spend too much time inside. Breaking: Ship Wreck & Prison in Verdansk are no longer fully accessible….trying to land there puts you into a nuclear area where you take damage. #Warzone pic.twitter.com/cJ274XyQh7 — CharlieIntel (@charlieINTEL) April 15, 2021 April 16 Warzone Nuke Radiation Zones: Hospital As we guessed correctly after Shipwreck and Prison were hit with these nuclear zones, it’s clear now that the devs are following the same path they did when the zombie outbreak first happened. The zone around Hospital pretty much covers the entire POI along with a bit of the surrounding areas, even crossing over the canal and into the western edge of Downtown. Speaking of Downtown, if this trend continues, then that’s where the next radioactive area will be, so stay tuned! April 15 Warzone Nuke Radiation Zones: Shipwreck & Prison The first two zones were placed around the Shipwreck and Prison points of interest, which also happen to be the first two POIs that had zombies when the outbreak first began at the start of Season 2. Whether or not that is a coincidence remains to be seen; if it’s not and Raven are following the same pattern as the outbreak, then the next zones will most likely be at Hospital and Downtown. Warzone Nuke Radiation Zones turning players into Zombies Dealing damage is not the only thing these radioactive areas do; for those who are playing Warzone in a non-solo playlist, if you end up dying from the radiation, you actually turn into a full-on zombie! As a zombie, you are able to run faster, not die from fall damage, and have several special abilities: Charged Jump, Gas Grenade, and EMP Blast. https://twitter.com/jackfrags/status/1382749728463552512 All of this is leading to the launch of Season 3, which many expect will kick off with a massive ‘Nuke Event’ that dataminers have been leaking and teasing for quite a while now. Thanks to recent leaks, we already know that the next iteration of Verdansk will take everything back to the 1980s, so this seems to be yet another sign of preparation for that transition.

New Warzone Season 2 wall glitch makes players unkillable on Rebirth Island – Dexerto
New Warzone Season 2 wall glitch makes players unkillable on Rebirth Island ActivisionWarzone players have discovered a new wallbreach glitch on Rebirth Island in Season 2 and it’s already completely ruining games. For the duration of Warzone’s existence as a battle royale, players have been finding ways to breach the boundaries of the map and get easy kills over their opponents. Effectively, they’re cheating their way to wins. For the most part, Verdansk doesn’t have many issues with these glitches anymore… but Rebirth Island is being affected. With the launch of Season 2 in late February, players have already found new ways to glitch walls on the map, and it’s becoming increasingly frustrating. Chemical Engineering was already a dangerous place when it was first introduced with the Black Ops Cold War integration, and players quickly found ways to clip inside walls in the building. Now, it’s happening again, but on an even larger scale. Rather than simply clipping into a small corner, players are able to breach the walls from outside and see much more of the map, picking out enemies on an even wider scale. As you can see in the clip below from tenXeXo, players can breach into the walls and even get under the Chem. Eng. section of the map, even looking up to see through the floors and find enemy players. Of course, it’s near impossible to counter because there’s no way of knowing players are hiding within the walls until you die to them. There’s no telling whether you can shoot back at the cheating enemies, and even if you can, you’ll have to hope you get lucky and hit them despite not seeing them. Developers Raven Software will want to get on top of this issue soon before it spreads and gets even worse.

New Warzone Season 2 teaser adds lightning storms over Verdansk – Dexerto
New Warzone Season 2 teaser adds lightning storms over Verdansk ActivisionIn another apparent teaser for Season 2 of Warzone, players spotted a lightning storm looming over Verdansk and shared footage of the strange phenomenon that is overtaking the map. With Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1 winding down, players have already set their sights on what Activision and Raven have planned for Season 2. Season 1’s battle pass is scheduled to end on February 24, and players are assuming the game’s next season will kick off shortly after. In the lead-up to Black Ops Cold War’s release in November 2020, Activision started rolling out teasers for the new game inside Warzone. Similarly, on February 11, players noticed a strange new machine in Verdansk’s hospital, which appeared to be the first in-game teaser for Season 2. Now, it seems that players in Warzone have spotted another potential teaser for next season. In a clip shared to Reddit, one player showed off footage of a lightning storm looming in the air above the original Warzone map. The short clip shared by ‘u/SavageSesh’ shows the player looking out across Verdansk, then seeing three lightning bolt shoot down from clouds hanging over the map. “Has anyone else noticed the lightning on Warzone? Anyone know what it means?” they asked. Other players speculated in the comments that the lightning strikes were another part of the Season 2 teaser lineup, with one user spelling out the connection between the two: “If I recall, there’s supposed to be some kind of Season 2 event [in-game teaser].” Some players thought the lightning could simply be a visual glitch. “Probably another bug,” one user replied. Others joked that the spectacle was related to the game’s hacking issues. “Storms of glitches and hackers,” read one reply, with another saying “Season 2 of bugs and glitches incoming.” Some users wanted to know where they could find the teaser, and one asked “Where on the map is this? Looks cool.” A second player responded “It’s outside the fire station at the top of the dam, looking towards the airport,” so it looks like you should head that way if you want to check this out for yourself. Read More: FFAR secretly buffed in Warzone – Leading up to the Black Ops Cold War/Warzone live event, the official Call of Duty Twitter account announced a specific date and time for players to be present in-game, so it’s likely another announcement will occur before any major teasers are revealed. It has yet to been seen whether or not the lightning is a teaser, glitch, or some other random occurrence. Players should keep their eyes peeled for the lightning storm when they jump into Verdansk, and we will keep you updated on any new Season 2 teasers or live events.

New Warzone Ricochet “weapon disarm” anti-cheat feature revealed to stop hackers – Dexerto
New Warzone Ricochet “weapon disarm” anti-cheat feature revealed to stop hackers ActivisionThe Call of Duty Warzone devs have unveiled a new feature that is guaranteed to make hackers lose their minds… and their guns. Warzone has had quite the history of cheaters plaguing the battle royale, but Activision has sought to rectify this through their anti-cheat RICOCHET. Now, as the fight against cheaters continues and with both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 on the horizon, Activision has revealed the next step, a new Disarm feature. As the name implies, Activision is looking to implement strict gun control measures by taking away anything hackers can use to damage their opponents. Warzone Disarm feature explained In a new blog post, the devs discussed Disarm, explaining how when cheaters are detected, their guns and even their fists will be taken from them. “We don’t expect many clips of this to find their way online, but we have seen it in action and the reactions from cheaters are always priceless,” they said, while sharing a video of what a disarm looks like. In the video, a cheater has their gun and hands completely disappear, rendering them unable to shoot, switch weapons, or even melee. RICOCHET has a new feature that will automatically disarm a player if they are suspected of cheating. #Warzone pic.twitter.com/93pMcLMKHA — CharlieIntel (@charlieINTEL) June 16, 2022 According to the devs, the main reason for this stemmed from one simple problem: cheaters having any level of lethality. Read More: The 10 best Call of Duty games of all time – “The aim for mitigations is to keep cheaters in-game to analyze their data while reducing their ability to impact a legitimate player’s experience. The data above shows that as mitigations are active, we see a reduction in cheater reports,” they added. We’ll have to see how effective this new strategy is, especially as we gear up for Warzone 2 in the months ahead.

New Warzone perk Tempered is causing bizarre issues in Season Five – Dexerto
New Warzone perk Tempered is causing bizarre issues in Season Five ActivisionWarzone Season 5 is finally here bringing tons of new content, including perks exclusive to Warzone. One of these perks, Tempered, is causing a huge issue in Verdansk; preventing players from climbing ladders. With the integration of Season 5 into the current game, there are tons of new things, such as weapons, a Gulag, and two exclusive perks. On top of all of this Activision have teased players that there is an anti-cheat in development. This is helping bring players back to the game and wanting to grind it out. However, even with all these new features being added to the game there are still issues that arise with new patches. This latest one is not allowing players to climb ladders in Warzone. New Warzone Tempered perk prevents players from climbing ladders Players are reporting that the new perk, Tempered which allows players to use less armor plates, is causing a game-breaking bug. The bug is preventing Warzone players from climbing up ladders all over Verdansk. This Reddit clip posted by ‘AmEn-MiNii’ shows off just how broken this can be. You can hear in the clip that his squadmate doesn’t even believe them. They try swapping weapons, but then realize that this is only happening while the Tempered perk is equipped. This is a huge issue because players are finding that this new perk is really helpful for saving up armor plates. Also, there are many roofs that players like to camp on, but can only be accessed by a ladder or a helicopter. Other players are reporting the same issue, one Redditor said this has been happening to them in their games, but claim that they did not have the Tempered perk equipped. Most people, though, agreed that it only occurred when they have Tempered equipped. It is unclear how to fully prevent this from happening in your games, but it seems to be something involving the new perk. Hopefully there is a fix soon as Warzone players are loving this new season.

New Warzone Pacific trailer teases Nazi storyline behind Caldera – Dexerto
New Warzone Pacific trailer teases Nazi storyline behind Caldera ActivisionWarzone Pacific is on the horizon and Call of Duty has been teasing its release through trailers. The latest revealed a Nazi storyline that lies on the island of Caldera. The new Warzone Pacific map is scheduled to release with Season 1 of Vanguard on December 8. With this, players will get a brand-new map, all the Vanguard weapons, and exclusive game modes. However, there may be some intel hiding in the sand, as a new trailer teases Nazi secrets on Caldera. https://twitter.com/CallofDuty/status/1466904736095944708 Warzone Pacific trailer showcases Nazi secrets Warzone received the Secrets of the Pacific event, but it is clear that more things haven’t been revealed. In the trailer, we see the story of Taskforce Trident as they fly over what is soon to be the new map. Sergeant Richard Webb and his team were off to find if the rumors of the Nazis were true on the Island The rumors appeared to be right as they were ambushed and had their plane blown right out of the sky. We see Webb stumble across a Nazi tunnel before saying, “The Nazis thought they could keep all their secrets buried… The world would never be ready for what I found.” This could mean so many things as we prepare to take on Caldera for the first time. First off, there could be some sort of bunker Easter egg, like there is on Rebirth Island. Also, this could mean that there will be Nazi-themed events at some point. Players can take the battlefield on December 8 and explore the island themselves as Season 1 kicks off a new era of Warzone.

New Warzone Pacific trailer showcases plane dogfighting & anti-aircraft weaponry – Dexerto
New Warzone Pacific trailer showcases plane dogfighting & anti-aircraft weaponry ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone’s Pacific map is nearly here and a new trailer showed fans a glimpse of what to expect. Among the shenanigans, it was hard not to notice just the game’s plane dogfighting and anti-aircraft weaponry. Vehicles are a big deal in Warzone. A big map with lots of players and different environments? Driving or flying around is often a pivotal element of the game, enabling people to rotate safely or find aggressive positions. While the most notorious vehicles in Verdansk were the helicopters and cargo trucks (aka Big Berthas), things are changing with the Pacific, Caldera map. Of most intrigue is the introduction of fighter planes, which have been speculated about for months now. In the new trailer for Caldera, fans got to see just how these planes will compete for the skies — with teases of dogfighting and what seems to be landlocked anti-aircraft weaponry. Warzone Pacific trailer shows off plane combat https://twitter.com/charlieINTEL/status/1467902247342604288 Although the trailer features a good deal of planes whipping around the skies, the real aerial action begins around the 1-minute mark. Around that point, you see one plane flying after another, with machine guns blaring out bullets. But that plane doesn’t go down in flames until something else takes care of it: an anti-aircraft gun. Around a minute in, you see someone hop into a big rig, swing it around, and start firing heavy flak shots at a plane, which almost instantly evaporated in a blaze of glory. To kick off Vanguard integration and Pacific, Caldera’s launch, there’s going to be a Vanguard Royale mode entirely dedicated to the new festivities. This will likely be the best bet for players who want to test the planes out themselves. Whether you want to shoot down players from the sky, shoot other planes from the sky, or shoot planes down from the ground — it certainly seems like Warzone Pacific is going to have some options.

New Warzone ‘Most Wanted’ contract comes with a serious downside – Dexerto
New Warzone ‘Most Wanted’ contract comes with a serious downside ActivisionA game-breaking bug with Call of Duty: Warzone’s new ‘Most Wanted’ contract has emerged, seemingly stopping players from accessing their loadout. Warzone’s April 28 update introduced a host of new features to Call of Duty’s sophomore battle royale effort. Strange ‘access cards’ have begun to emerge on the map, alongside new playable areas that could hint at more vehicles. One of the update’s more controversial changes included ridding the game of its standard ‘Bounty’ contracts, replacing them with the brand new ‘Most Wanted’ contracts. These new contracts make the users a target for every other team in the game. While the ‘Most Wanted’ contract offers a significant reward upon survival, respawning your whole squad, it seems that survival can also have a serious downside. A new bug has emerged, showing a player losing their loadout and HUD upon reviving a teammate. The clip, shared to Reddit on April 29, shows a player climb into the back of one of Warzone’s infamous armored trucks in order to pick up a downed teammate. However, their revival coincides with the expiration of the ‘Most Wanted’ contract. This combination removes the player’s loadout and HUD, essentially wiping their weapons from existence. “Well…don’t revive your teammates when you are about to finish the new contract lmao,” the Redditor joked. The Modern Warfare fan even confirmed that they died “15 seconds” after the revival as a direct result of the glitch. While the chances of someone reviving a teammate at the exact moment the contract expires are pretty slim, the bug can clearly ruin a game if it does occur. Infinity Ward are yet to respond to the bug, but any significant update is likely to cause a few noticeable issues. Given the severity of the ‘Most Wanted’ bug, we can expect to see a fix in the works soon. Related: Warzone tips from world record holder More generally, players are disappointed with the developer’s decision to remove regular bounty contracts from non-solo modes. Considering Infinity Ward added trios back after the community complained, it’s possible they add back the old bounty contracts too.

New Warzone monitor cam hack makes streaming with cheats even easier – Dexerto
New Warzone monitor cam hack makes streaming with cheats even easier ActivisionA new Warzone hack has been discovered that makes hiding cheats when streaming much more reliable, helping players hide their gameplay from further scrutiny. While Warzone’s Ricochet anti-cheat has helped to alleviate some of the game’s cheating problems, there are still those that managed to slip through the net. In fact, cheaters have been known to stream their hacks to large audiences, often even going as far as to show their hacks off live. Of course, not everyone wishes to be so brazen when it comes to cheating, particularly those who wish to avoid any bans. It’s not uncommon for cheaters to great lengths to hide their hacks from prying eyes. Well, one advanced cheat now makes this process even easier, baffling viewers by its absurdity. Hacking Call of Duty streamers are evolving If the in-depth aimbot hacks that enable players to adjust which bodyparts their bullets hit weren’t bad enough, this new hack certainly takes the first-place prize. The video below shows how one hacker has put an overlay over their monitor camera footage, which hides their actual on-screen actions. This essentially means hackers can freely use their cheats when streaming, giving the appearance of legitimacy. Viewers will only see what the cheaters want them to see, which greatly reduces them being reported by those watching. The hack is so believable that it’s only when the user puts their hands through the screen that all is revealed. Of course, these cheaters can still be reported in-game when their aim and general gameplay are suspicious, but it does make it harder to tell when streaming. Obviously, this once again undermines legitimate Warzone streamers who don’t use hacks to gain an unfair advantage. With the constant slew of hackusations being thrown around, it looks like things could get even worse for talented players.

New Warzone map teaser has CoD fans convinced it’s set to recapture Verdansk’s magic – Dexerto
New Warzone map teaser has CoD fans convinced it’s set to recapture Verdansk’s magic ActivisionThe newest Warzone map teaser has Call of Duty fans convinced it’s set to recapture Verdansk’s magic, or at least pay homage to the iconic locale. As CoD gears up for Modern Warfare 3 which is set to arrive on November 10, players have been treated to a plethora of teasers for what to expect in the brand-new era of Call of Duty. From the return of Zombies to various movement features like slide canceling making a comeback, there’s plenty for fans new and old to look forward to. And with it all comes a whole host of remastered classic maps from 2009. Now, ahead of this year’s CoD Next event, players have noticed in the devs’ teaser video of the new Warzone map, it looks suspiciously similar to Verdansk, the original Warzone map. As first pointed out by content creator JGOD, the new Warzone map gives off “Verdansk vibes”. Saying, “Especially if you add water to the space between port and downtown on the right.” Even more obvious is the choice of showcasing a shipyard that bears a lot of resemblance to the port of Verdansk, albeit the teased map having an actual body of water in comparison to Verdansk’s more barren plot of land. Some players also commented on the similarities to Verdansk, with a Redditor saying in a thread on the Warzone forum, “Verdansk remake? That’s the port if I ever saw it. Not a copy of Verdansk but a remake of it, now with water.” Another commented, “Looks exactly like that port side in the Verdansk map that used to overlook Downtown. Very similar, just more broken.“ However, many took issue with a body of water being so heavily featured in the new map, as players have long had problems with water combat. As for whether it truly is a remake of Verdansk, we won’t know until its official reveal in CoD Next on October 5.

New Warzone map teased in leaked Modern Warfare Season 4 video – Dexerto
New Warzone map teased in leaked Modern Warfare Season 4 video Infinity WardA new CoD: Warzone map has been leaked by way of a teaser video for Modern Warfare Season 4. The supposed map is named ‘Urzikstan’ and is in some way related to the game’s current map, Verdansk. Judging from the leaked video, the location seems to be in close proximity to Verdansk, as the clip begins with a shot of the town on a map that slowly pans over to the potentially new Warzone arena. Leaked Warzone map In addition, the clip shows various red dots that pop up in some sort of pattern around Verdansk, leading fans and players to speculate their meaning. Keep in mind that the details and specifics of a potentially new Warzone map have not been revealed, as it could be some time until the map actually makes it onto the live servers. These new leaks for Warzone come in the wake of more surrounding a potentially new CoD game coming later in 2020 based around the Vietnam War. However, with Season 3 of Modern Warfare still being in its early phases, and Season 4 obviously being around the corner in light of these recent teasers, it may be too early to start thinking about a mainstream CoD release. It’s even going to be a while until Season 4 of Modern Warfare comes to fruition, so it may be some time until the mystery of the leaks are solved. When put into context and associated with the already existing ties to Verdansk and Warzone as a whole, it’s starting to become clear that there may be some links between Urzikstan and a potentially new map coming in Season 4. Related – The Incredible Call of Duty COMEBACKS That Shocked Everyone It’s safe to assume that there’s still plenty of time between now and an official announcement regarding these leaks. Normally, Modern Warfare’s seasons have lasted approximately two months each. Considering how Season 3 kicked off about three weeks ago, we might not see S4 – and potentially this new map – until the first week of June, at the earliest.

New Warzone map revealed to be 1980s Verdansk in leaked celebrity trailer – Dexerto
New Warzone map revealed to be 1980s Verdansk in leaked celebrity trailer ActivisionIn a celebrity trailer leaked to social media, fans got a glimpse at what seems to be Warzone’s new map, which features Verdansk in a 1980s theme with some major changes and brand-new locations. If you’ve been wondering what Verdansk would look like in the 1980s, then a leaked trailer that hit Twitter recently has you covered. On March 31, 2021, fans got a surprising look at what appeared to be a trailer for Warzone featuring celebrities like Jack Harlow, Young Thug, Gunna and Druski. The trailer itself, a work-in-progress with unfinished sections, featured a first look at some of the locations that will be featured in a yet-to-be-announced 1980s Verdansk map. While fairly short, the trailer showed some very quick looks at changes happening across Verdansk. The entire map wasn’t shown so it’s unknown just how much more might be changed, but it did offer some very interesting looks at a few major alterations. In the trailer, the Verdansk Stadium appeared to have been changed to some sort of under-construction version. It appears to have a similar layout to the one currently in-game, albeit very early on in construction, with only part of the structure being completed and a crane jutting out in the middle. Additionally, the area that was once the Dam was also shown. The large Dam structure was replaced by a simple bridge overlooking seemingly lush forest, with all water and ice seemingly removed from the area so it looks very different compared to its current in-game counterpart. Finally, players also got a couple quick shots of some other areas on the map, including one that looked like the location featured at the end of the Black Ops Cold War campaign, as well as what appears to be a new airport. There also seemed to be some kind of underground railway, although it’s unclear if this is a version of the subway (which also goes underground) or something else. Of course, we won’t be showing the trailer here and attempts to find it online will more than likely fail, as Activision is trying to scrub its existence from the internet for now. We’ll keep an eye out for a finished trailer being published officially, but fans are certainly more intrigued than ever about the future of Verdansk.

New Warzone map reportedly coming in April following leaked Verdansk nuke event – Dexerto
New Warzone map reportedly coming in April following leaked Verdansk nuke event ActivisionWarzone could be moving away from Verdansk rather soon as a new report suggests a major update is set for April, bringing with it a Black Ops Cold War overhaul along with an entirely new map. Since the release of Warzone on March 10, 2020, players have grown accustomed to there being just one map. While Rebirth Island was introduced in December, Verdansk has served as the only map for regular-sized competition since launch. After months of teasers throughout Warzone’s ongoing narrative, it appears we’re finally set to break new ground. An in-game nuke event will allegedly be the catalyst for one of the biggest updates yet. At the end of Season 2, nukes around Verdansk will finally be set in motion and serve as the transition to a new 1980’s themed map, according to a report from VideoGamesChronicle. LEAK: According to a report from @VGC_News, Season 2 will be the final season for Verdansk in Warzone. The report states that the nukes found in Verdansk will blow up, leading to a totally new Black Ops themed map in April. pic.twitter.com/v7J6Py8RRZ — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) February 25, 2021 While the brand new Season has only just begun, at its climax, Verdansk appears to be in store for total destruction. We’ve known for quite some time that a major nuclear event has been building under the surface. Now, VGC states that this event is coming sooner than later with the end of Season 2 kicking off a major revamp. With the new Battle Pass now available, we know that April 22 is the targeted date for Season 3. This is reportedly when the new map will come into focus. Nuclear silos now open across Verdansk could be advancing through launch stages as the current season progresses. Once it all kicks off, Verdansk will reportedly be no more. Players will allegedly be sent to a 1980’s themed battleground, with familiar Black Ops locations scattered throughout. While a number of key areas were featured throughout the earlier Blackout mode in Black Ops 4, this could pave the way for yet another nostalgia hit. Zombies have just arrived in Verdansk thanks to the new Ship POI. A leading theory suggests that a zombie outbreak could leave no choice but to nuke the area. As Season 2 unfolds, perhaps it’s only a matter of time until more locations are overrun by the undead. Be on the lookout for any subtle changes across Verdansk as we enter what could be our final weeks on the map.

New Warzone map ‘Rebirth Island’ teased in Black Ops Cold War roadmap – Dexerto
New Warzone map ‘Rebirth Island’ teased in Black Ops Cold War roadmap Activision / Wikimedia CommonsWith Black Ops Cold War fast approaching, Warzone players have just been given their first hint at an entirely new map coming soon and it appears as though we’ll be returning to a familiar location: Rebirth Island. [jwplayer Q7ySHZq9] Activision unloaded a huge pile of Warzone intel on November 5. From how Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War will sync up, to a new unified progression system, and even the Season One roadmap, there was a ton to digest. However, one hugely important detail was subtly slipped in among the info dump. While the community gravitated towards the return of Nuketown and a new Prestige system, Warzone also featured in the first seasonal breakdown as well. Referred to as a ‘Classified Warzone Experience,’ something new is on the horizon when Season One launches on December 10. But what exactly is this new experience? Taking a closer look at the image shows chunks of obscured text. One line, in particular, is cut off, only revealing ‘eniya Island.’ This can only mean one thing, Vozrozhdeniya Island, or ‘Rebirth Island’ when translated into English. This particular island will ring a few bells for veterans of the CoD franchise, as well as those brushed up on their Soviet history. Vozrozhdeniya Island was used as a secret bioweapons testing site throughout much of the 20th century. From Anthrax to weaponized smallpox, scientists on the island manufactured and studied lethal diseases. Not all went according to plan, however, as a number of researchers on the island were infected by weapons of their own creation. In the CoD series, players visited this very same island in the ‘Rebirth’ mission in the original Black Ops. Instead of real-world diseases, scientists in this fictional take were developing Nova 6. This lethal concoction seems to have overrun the island based on wording in the new Warzone teaser. “Effects are instantaneous. Violent coughing, vomiting,” and “[bleeding?] from the eyes,” are just some of the symptoms outlined. This horrific outbreak sets the stage for a new Warzone experience. The island itself was once positioned in the Aral Sea, which can clearly be made out in the accompanying image. Obviously, there’s no telling exactly how this new experience might play out. It could be as simple as Rebirth Island becoming a fully-fledged second map in Warzone. Though there’s also every chance this plot of land serves as host for something entirely new. With deadly diseases infecting its inhabitants, perhaps we’ll see some new enemy types in a unique mode. Biochemical weapons could be scattered across the area. Only time will tell how this classified experience unfolds. We won’t have to wait long to find out though; Black Ops Cold War Season One kicks off on December 10.

New Warzone map possibly leaked in Modern Warfare 3 reveal – Dexerto
New Warzone map possibly leaked in Modern Warfare 3 reveal ActivisionA part of the new Warzone map has seemingly and accidentally been leaked by the dev, according to CoD guru JGOD With plenty of players – both casual and competitive alike – being disappointed by Modern Warfare 2 (2022), attention in the last few weeks has turned to Modern Warfare 3 (2023). The new MW2 was initially rumored to run for a cycle of two years and just have a large expansion to tide players over, but that isn’t the case. MW3 is going to be a full new game, releasing in November, with an overhaul to multiplayer, non-linear sections of the campaign, and an update to Warzone. When it comes to the Warzone side of things, players are expecting a new map. Many want to go back to Verdansk and a few want to see what the long-rumored Las Almas would look like as a battle royale map. Well, whatever Sledgehammer Games have in-store, it appears they’ve already dropped a bit of a hint. JGOD claims new Warzone map accidentally leaked by devs That’s according to JGOD anyway, as the Call of Duty guru noted that the campaign reveal from Gamescom 2023 “accidentally leaked” part of the new map. It wasn’t a part of the gameplay trailer shown at the event. Instead, it was posted as a short clip to the devs’ Twitter/X profile showing off some of the new features in the non-linear campaign missions. “They highlighted several open-world maps and some people have already had an opportunity to see a leaked version of the battle royale map and this essentially confirms that this is part of the new POI,” he said in his August 23 video. Timestamp of 0:30 Some other fans on social media pointed to another screenshot from the earlier reveal of the Zombies portion of MW3 having a similar color palette to that in the new campaign videos. That, as the photos have shown, is set in the Middle East, so it would rule out Las Alamas being the setting given that is Mexico. We ultimately won’t know if it is part of the new map until CoD NEXT, which happens on October 5. So, we’ll just have to keep an eye on things.

New Warzone map Fortune’s Keep: All POIs, Rebirth Island changes, & unique features – Dexerto
New Warzone map Fortune’s Keep: All POIs, Rebirth Island changes, & unique features ActivisionFor just the fourth time in Warzone history, the Call of Duty battle royale has a new map. Fortune’s Keep is now live following the Season 4 update and we’ve got the full rundown on all there is to know. Since Warzone first launched in March 2020, new maps have been few and far between. Originally, there was just Verdansk, before it received a small update to become Verdansk ‘84, which arrived alongside Rebirth Island. The Vanguard integration brought Caldera to the mix, replacing Verdansk, and since then players have been splitting their time between Caldera and Rebirth Island. With the arrival of the Season 4 update, however, a new addition just joined the party. Fortune’s Keep is now in the spotlight so be sure to brush up on everything there is to know about the new map before dropping in. This is #FortunesKeep, the new #Warzone map coming with Season 4. pic.twitter.com/my6KloSaTW — CharlieIntel (@charlieINTEL) June 13, 2022 Full Fortune’s Keep map with all POIs On Monday, June 13, the full Fortune’s Keep map was finally revealed, showing off all of the POIs and the design decisions that players can expect to hop into when the map finally arrives. Here is the full list of POIs, as shown in the image above: Bay – Camp – Gatehouse – Graveyard – Grotto – Keep – Lighthouse – Overlook – Smuggler’s Cove – Terraces – Town – Winery – Fortune’s Keep lobby sizes As Fortune’s Keep is another smaller option in Warzone, lobby sizes are considerably smaller than those found in Caldera BR playlists. Instead, the number of players in any given match is closer to that of the Rebirth experience. Below is a exact lobby size of each playlist across Fortune’s Keep at launch: Solo: 47 – Duos: 46 – Trios: 45 – Quads: 40 – It’s worth noting, however, much like recent Caldera changes, there’s always a chance Fortune’s Keep changes in the near future. Thus, we could see increased lobby sizes to up the ante or reduced player counts if things are a little too chaotic. Black Market Run contracts on Fortune’s Keep Exclusive to Fortune’s Keep are new Black Market Run contracts. Picking these up and completing the objective is your key to accessing extremely powerful loot in Black Market Buy Stations. From Nebula V Miniguns to a range of Perk boosts, there’s plenty on offer that you won’t find anywhere else. ]Be ready for a fight at any of these off-the-record Buy Stations though, as once they’re open, any team can jump in and steal the glory for a brief period. When did Fortune’s Keep arrive in Warzone? After some early speculation, devs confirmed that Fortune’s Keep would arrive alongside Season 4 Mercenaries of Fortune on June 22. Now that the new location is live for all to enjoy, it’s safe to expect Fortune’s Keep will be sticking around for quite some time. Given the interval between new maps, it could be a staple in the CoD BR for months to come. Has Fortune’s Keep replaced Rebirth Island? While fans were concerned Fortune’s Keep would outright replace Rebirth Island at first, devs have assured that isn’t the case. Rather, both bite-sized BR maps will be on a daily rotation. At 10AM PT each day, Rebirth and Fortune’s Keep will trade places, giving players equal access to both maps. Read More: Warzone Season 4 Battle Pass – This makes for a historic occasion in Warzone as these two will feature as part of the game’s first-ever map rotation cycle, a feature that’s been highly requested for many months.

New Warzone map for MW3 will be playable before launch — but there’s a catch – Dexerto
New Warzone map for MW3 will be playable before launch — but there’s a catch ActivisionWarzone players will be able to play on the new map before it launches in the Modern Warfare 3 integration, but there will be a slight catch. Alongside a whole new multiplayer experience with Modern Warfare 3, which is set to include all 16 classic MW2 (2009) maps as well as the reintroduction of red dots on the minimap, the new Warzone integration is highly anticipated as fans speculate whether it could help recover the game. On August 17, the Modern Warfare 3 in-game reveal took place, followed by a huge blog post detailing a bunch of the content players can expect when the game launches on November 10. While Warzone itself wasn’t explicitly talked about in detail, we did find out that players will be able to access the new map before it comes to the game on its rumored release date of December 6 — but it won’t quite be in the capacity players would like. MW3 Warzone map will be playable early? It has now been revealed that the Zombies map in Modern Warfare 3 will actually be the same as the Warzone map that will be releasing when they launch the new battle royale update. This means that if you want to check out the next map, you can load into Zombies — which will be in Modern Warfare 3 from day one — and start exploring everything the map has to offer. There aren’t many details available on the next Warzone experience, though leaks have suggested that it will land in the game when Season 1 drops, which has been reported to be December 6. With a brand new movement system that brings players back to something more similar to MW2019, there’s a lot to look forward to with Modern Warfare 3 — and getting ahead of your opponents with superior map knowledge from day one could make your Warzone experience even better.

New Warzone map for CoD 2021? WW2 Vanguard integration currently “uncertain” – Dexerto
New Warzone map for CoD 2021? WW2 Vanguard integration currently “uncertain” ActivisionWhile fans are still wondering when Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will bring a new map to Warzone, recent reports have introduced some questions about another new map, based on CoD 2021, rumored to be called WWII: Vanguard. Although Black Ops Cold War’s integration into Warzone didn’t mean much outside of new weapons, that is expected to change sometime in April. Now, we also have some expectations for how it might change, or fail to change, in the future as well. New Warzone information has been revealed alongside a VGC report that Sledgehammer Games’ CoD 2021, also tentatively known as WW2: Vanguard, will use the Modern Warfare 2019 (and, therefore, Warzone) engine. According to that same report, Vanguard’s weapons will be integrated into Warzone, but it remains “uncertain” if there’s a way to mesh the titles’ vastly different time settings. After Modern Warfare debuted a new “IW8” engine for MW19 and Warzone, Treyarch diverted and used their own modified Black Ops 4 engine for BOCW. A return to IW8 in Sledgehammer’s 2021 title should mean easier integration of weaponry, but blending WW2 with modern Verdansk appears to be a taller task. As VGC’s sources indicate, “WW2: Vanguard will likely share weapons and progression with Warzone, like Black Ops Cold War does.” Utilizing the same base engine, that cross-progression and gunplay should feel more similar across titles than it has with BOCW. But the developers remain uncertain about map changes, noting that “scheduling issues and the significant change in time setting” make it hard to envision a wholesale transformation of the current and upcoming map. Even if the new BOCW map ties in the 1980s, that’s still decades away from WW2, which lasted from 1939 to 1945. Considering the extreme contrast in time periods, it’s understandable that there is some hesitation about Warzone map promises with WW2: Vanguard. Still, nothing is set in stone — devs just seem reluctant to make any promises just yet. As such, VGC speculates that either a WW2-themed map change could come later in 2022 (a similar schedule to the BOCW changes) or that the battle royale might wait until 2022 title for another new map.

New Warzone leaks tease Black Ops 6 map & players already hate it for one reason – Dexerto
New Warzone leaks tease Black Ops 6 map & players already hate it for one reason ActivisionNew Warzone leaks have given fans a taste of what to expect from the game’s 2025 map, and fans are already hating it for one reason. In the lead-up to the release of the next big CoD installment, Black Ops 6, developer Activision was the victim of the latest batch of major video game leaks, with multiple maps and features revealed. In addition to revealing details about Black Ops 6, a clip of what appears to be Warzone’s 2025 map has been leaked. Known internally under the codename Avalon, the upcoming map has already become a major talking point amongst the CoD community for all the wrong reasons. The leaked clip shows multiple small islands separated by water; the only thing connected to these areas is a string of thin, exposed bridges. While the landmass is littered with damaged buildings and rubble, a large chunk of the map is filled with rural terrain and includes a large stadium, which appears to be the centerpiece of the whole battleground. The one reason CoD players are hating on this leaked map layout is something that has always been a talking point amongst the community: too much water. In a Reddit thread dedicated to the map leak, the community’s voice is loud and clear in almost all 200 comments: many arguing the map ‘offers nothing but water.’ Another Reddit user added, “That’s so much f**king water. Have they EVER received positive feedback about the inclusion of water? Why are they insisting on shoving it in wherever possible?” Historically, the franchise has never had too much luck when introducing maps with large bodies of water, as noted by another Reddit user, “It wouldn’t be as much of a problem if the physics actually worked properly, but their code is sh**, so water is a headache.” Furthermore, CoD fans are already comparing the new map Avalon to the last one, dubbing the upcoming Warzone location “Caldera, but with water.” It’s important to note that this is not the final product of the map and may be subject to change by the time the devs officially reveal it.

New Warzone leak reveals new Payload mode, Rebirth night map & more LTMs – Dexerto
New Warzone leak reveals new Payload mode, Rebirth night map & more LTMs ActivisionA new leak from a reputable dataminer seems to reveal some upcoming game modes for Call of Duty: Warzone, including something called Payload, which seems to be a variation of Rumble, as well as a Rebirth Night map, and a whole lot more. If you still love Warzone and are eager to jump into more game modes in the battle royale title, then there may be some good news for you in the future — if some new leaks are to be believed. Over on Twitter, known dataminer ZestyCODLeaks has revealed a slew of new game modes that might be coming to the game in the near future. A total of five different LTMs (limited-time modes) have leaked, however, only a couple of them have details, which isn’t too surprising considering they are datamined. Rebirth Island: Night mode https://twitter.com/ZestyCODLeaks/status/1380342418923393025?s=20 The first is a night version of the Rebirth Island map. This is ultimately the most unsurprising addition, as we’ve already gotten a night version of Verdansk in the past during the game’s Halloween event. No other details are available for this mode except for the fact that it might be coming before the end of Season 2 based on code related to the mode. Warzone Payload mode https://twitter.com/ZestyCODLeaks/status/1380353800553201667 Another new mode leaked is Payload. In this, two teams will apparently be fighting to push the other their respective zones, with the help of some new vehicle variants. While not known for sure, this sounds like a variation of the Warzone Rumble mode that appears in the game from time to time, but it’s unknown if this will will also feature 50 players on each team. Other leaked Warzone LTMs Finally, a trio of other modes were also leaked, including “bodycount,” “brz,” and “hunt.” Unfortunately, no details about these new modes were leaked, so it’s all left to speculation about what they might be exactly. https://twitter.com/ZestyCODLeaks/status/1380365409371578368 It’s also worth pointing out that it might be a while before some or all of these modes see the light of day, if they get released at all. Considering it’s all just leaked and datamined information, who knows what will actually become of it. Of course, keep it locked to Dexerto so you can be up to date for if these modes do appear in Warzone.
