Nadeshot Hilariously Roasts NAMELESS After He Gets Destroyed in 1v1 on Black Ops 4 Beta When retired professional player Anthony “NAMELESS” Wheeler choked what should have been an easy 1v1 on the Black Ops 4 beta, Matt “Nadeshot” didn’t hold back, letting him know all about it. The two former pro players, both veterans of competitive Call of Duty, were trying their hand at the beta on its opening weekend, playing SnD and really going hard, as they got a feel for the potential of the game. They were also playing alongside current professional player Lamar “Accuracy” Abedi and another former pro Marcus “MBoZe” Blanks, all players known for their SnD prowess – but it wasn’t as easy as they might have expected. The worst of it came when Nadeshot and NAMELESS where left in a 2v1, and after Nadeshot got the final enemy weak before dropping, he expected NAMELESS to clean up the kill and the round. But NAMELESS missed his shots and was then caught reloading by the enemy, who finished him off too and snagged the round win. Nadeshot wasn’t impressed at all, bursting into a hilarious roast of his fellow veteran player turned caster and analyst. “NAMELESS! Quit the app! Go play WWII or go commentate – I’m not dealing with this. You are costing me years of my life. Bro you are shooting circles.” NAMELESS stepped away from competing earlier in 2018, after being dropped from Evil Geniuses and taking up a broadcast position with MLG and the Call of Duty World League, but he has previously mentioned the possibility of a return to competition. Admittedly, NAMELESS has never really been lauded as the professional with the greatest accuracy, but his in-game intelligence can’t be doubted and he would likely still make for a solid addition to a professional team, should he choose to attempt to compete in Black Ops 4. The last ‘boots on the ground’ Black Ops title, Black Ops 2, was one of NAMELESS’ best competitive titles, winning an event alongside MBoZe on UNiTE. Some have said that Black Ops 4 shares similarities with it’s 2012 predecessor, so perhaps NAMELESS will be tempted to give it another shot.

Nadeshot hilariously lies to his team during Black Ops 4 tournament to keep them from worrying – Dexerto
Nadeshot hilariously lies to his team during Black Ops 4 tournament to keep them from worrying Sometimes the best way to keep up team morale while playing Black Ops 4 is to not let your teammates know when you start whiffing shots and losing fights. Call of Duty veteran and 100 Thieves owner Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag may not be competing professionally anymore, but he’s been playing in plenty of online tournaments since the release of Black Ops 4. Despite playing in them quite frequently, Nadeshot can still have some off nights, though, which is just what happened to him while playing in a tournament on November 4. In the midst of a 4v4 S&D tournament, Nadeshot whiffed some shots in a gunfight that he felt he should have won. Feeling the need to explain himself, Nadeshot quickly let chat know what was going on with his aim. “Chat, I don’t know what the fuck just happened, but my aim just went to dogshit,” Nadeshot said about the lost gunfight. While he let his chat in on his struggles, Nadeshot didn’t want his teammates to know, adding on “I’m not gonna tell my teammates cause I don’t wanna get them worried, but your boy is whiffing shots.” After unmuting his mic, he puts on a brave face to let his teammates know that everything is going just fine. “Alright let’s get it, boys! I don’t know what’s going on right now, but I’m beaming. I just keep getting jokes,” Nadeshot tells his team before flashing the camera a cheeky smile before the next round starts. His teammates were none the wiser, as they simply carried on discussing team strategies seemingly without realizing that Nadeshot was struggling at the moment. Thankfully for Nadeshot, he was able to overcome his aim issues to his team win the match soon after this hilarious exchange occurred.

Nadeshot Has Serious Plans for 100 Thieves to “Take Over” in CoD: Black Ops 4 – “I Have Some Players in Mind” – Dexerto
Nadeshot Has Serious Plans for 100 Thieves to “Take Over” in CoD: Black Ops 4 – “I Have Some Players in Mind” The next Call of Duty World League season could see 100 Thieves storm in as a new force to be reckoned with. CEO and founder Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has expressed his desire for the org to feature a standout team during the Black Ops 4 season, even going as far to say that the team could “take over” the competitive scene. Recent tweets posted by Nadeshot have invited a flurry of rumors and speculation as to who the future members of the 100 Thieves CoD team could be. However, live on his stream on August 1, he shut down those rumors when addressing a question posed by one of his viewers. “Listen, I have no idea who’s going to join 100 Thieves. I see all these speculative Tweets and posts on Reddit. I’m just going to shut it down right now. […] Guys, I haven’t engaged with any players on any team about Black Ops 4 100 Thieves.” Despite these comments, Nadeshot did make it clear that he has high aspirations for 100 Thieves for the upcoming season, and he knows which players would help the org achieve its goals. “I have been thinking about it. I have some players in mind that I think are absolutely necessary for my plan to have 100 Thieves to sort of take over, or at least be a top two team right off the rip. I’m pretty confident in my ability to go out and get players this offseason. I think a lot of players respect 100 Thieves, which I can really appreciate. […] There’s some players that I want on my team man.” The recruitment for the 100 Thieves CoD team will definitely be one of the major storylines to follow in what should be a busy and exciting offseason. The org will hope to emulate the success they achieved in League of Legends, when they broke in as the top team in the Spring Split of the NA League Championship Series earlier in 2018.

Nadeshot gives his take on whether Scump is the COD GOAT – Dexerto
Nadeshot gives his take on whether Scump is the COD GOAT X GamesThere are a handful of worthy candidates for Call of Duty’s greatest player of all time honors, but Nadeshot believes Scump was the best of the best. On January 17, Seth ‘Scump’ Abner shocked the CoD and gaming community by announcing his retirement in the middle of the Modern Warfare 2 season. The King’s departure inevitably sparked GOAT debates. No different than football fans arguing between Messi or Ronaldo, or basketball fans siding with either James or Jordan, some CoD fans want to crown the game’s best player. But some fans argue that players like Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter, Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow, Matt ‘FormaL’ Piper, James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks, and Scump all have a rightful claim to the throne. 100 Thieves founder and former OpTic Gaming player Nadeshot has the unique perspective of playing with and briefly against Scump in the prime of his career. Nade explained why Scump stands above the pack Nadeshot and Scump teamed together for three full seasons, with some other appearances mixed in. The duo ascended as two of the biggest names in CoD and led OpTic during the first part of a historic dynasty run. In the latest episode of the 100 Thieves Cast, Nadeshot drew from his wealth of CoD knowledge and named who is, in his opinion, CoD’s GOAT. Going strictly off major tournament wins, Crimsix leads the pack with 37 total. Porter played an integral role in compLexity and OpTic Gaming’s dynasty runs and was a consistent force until his retirement in 2022. “People don’t give Crimsix the respect that he deserves for what he achieved. If you get on the wrong side of the Green Wall, it almost feels like the whole world flips upside down, and now you’re public enemy number one. A lot of people don’t talk about Crimsix’s achievements, and the staggering amount of tournament wins he has, and how consistently he did it.” Clayster will go down in history as one of the best AR players of all time when he decides to call it a career. The CoD legend won three World Championships and has 19 major victories to his name. Nadeshot and Clayster didn’t always see eye to eye while competing, but Nade included his name in the GOAT conversation. “I don’t think people comprehend how difficult it is to win three World Championships in those eras of Call of Duty.” It wouldn’t be a GOAT debate without also mentioning Karma and FormaL. Nadeshot made sure to pay both players their duly deserved respect but gave his case for why Scump is the best. “I just think from a talent perspective, from the teams Scump played on, many of those with me and other fluctuations, outside pressures, teams not being right, I think if Scump had the same teammates as some these players did through the years, I think his resume would be just as stacked.” Nadeshot contributed squad spawns, a format change from 5v5, and online tournaments to some of the turbulence Scump experienced in his career, and he doesn’t believe that should hinder his claim for being CoD’s GOAT. “From playing with and against him a few times, the impact he has on a map, and how hard it is to kill him, I think Scump is the best and most talented player of all time.” Scump’s retirement marks the end of an era in CoD, but Nadeshot still doesn’t believe the top five or top ten is solidified yet. Simp AbeZy and Cellium immediately came to mind for Nade as players with the potential to enter the pantheon of CoD’s greatest players.

Nadeshot “fully supports” ID requirements to play CoD and prison sentences for cheating – Dexerto
Nadeshot “fully supports” ID requirements to play CoD and prison sentences for cheating Twitch: NadeshotNadeshot, former professional esports player and CEO of 100 Thieves, says he is in full support of Call of Duty requiring IDs to play and offering prison sentences to cheaters. Nadeshot is one of the many content creators who have been extremely vocal about the number of cheaters running rampant in ranked. Activision’s RICOCHET anti-cheat system has been called into question by players based on hundreds of reports of cheaters online – but the company claims it has banned thousands of cheaters already. However, a new video recently surfaced showing that cheats are now advancing to the point of being undetectable by RICOCHET when it begins investigating an account. Now, Nadeshot has shared his ideas for how to combat these cheaters for good. Nadeshot proposes hash measures for CoD cheaters Nadeshot responded to a Twitter/X post made on February 27, which stated that CoD should require ID verification to play the game. While harsh, similar titles have made users add their phone numbers and activate two-factor authentication to play competitively. “Require an ID to play,” said one user. “Upgrade anti-cheats and if caught once should be criminally charged. Minimum $2,000 or something. Scare most of them away.” Putting fee charges on cheaters and hackers is something that Nadeshot said he was personally a fan of. But just charging them a fee isn’t enough; he claims that prison sentences should also be handed out to compensate. “Fully supportive,” said Nadeshot. “Throw a prison sentence in there somewhere for shits and giggles.” While most of the comments were in favor of criminal charges being brought against cheaters, some had concerns about the potential of players being falsely banned and what that could mean for those affected. While it is unlikely that criminal charges will be brought against cheaters in the near future, it’s clear that something else needs to be done by Activision to combat these cheaters.

Nadeshot frustrated by LA Thieves ‘throw’ against Toronto Ultra in Stage 5 Major – Dexerto
Nadeshot frustrated by LA Thieves ‘throw’ against Toronto Ultra in Stage 5 Major YouTube: 100 ThievesLA Thieves founder and CEO Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has vented his frustrations with his CDL squad after the team “threw” a huge winning opportunity against Toronto Ultra at the Stage 5 Major. The event is the final chance for Call of Duty League teams to earn some decent money and improve their seeding before the coveted world championship event in August. LA Thieves took on the highly-rated Toronto Ultra in the opening round of the Major, a match that many would expect to see Toronto fly through with relative ease. Instead, they managed to push the Ultra all the way to a game 5 Search and Destroy on Standoff, and ultimately ended up losing 6-3. The map itself was closer than the scoreline let on — the Thieves gave up multiple man advantages and let Toronto defuse bombs where they simply shouldn’t have been able to, proving why they’re a serious threat in S&D. These round losses weren’t lost on Nadeshot, who took to Twitter to air his feelings after the disappointing finish. “We really threw that sh*t, damn, so bad” he said in one tweet. After a follower said that he’s “calling his own team bad,” Nade responded by noting that he was actually saying the throw was bad. In a later tweet, he went into more details on the loss, saying that “You’re not winning on LAN if you don’t have the ice game 5 SND.” He added: “Every single player on our team knows that. Hoping we can bring it back in the losers bracket.” You’re not winning on LAN if you don’t have the ice game 5 SND. Every single player on our team knows that. Hoping we can bring it back in the losers bracket. — 100T Nadeshot (@Nadeshot) July 30, 2021 100 Thieves are now set to take on the winner of Florida Mutineers and New York Subliners in round 3 of the loser’s bracket, making their journey to the grand final significantly harder. Elsewhere on the first day of the Stage 5 Major, there were some serious upsets happening. Minnesota RØKKR took down Atlanta FaZe in a 3-1 scoreline in round 1, putting the tournament favorites into the loser’s bracket. Whatever happens, Nadeshot and the LA Thieves team will be thinking about that final Search & Destroy for a long time.

Nadeshot Forced to Explain the HBR Meme on the Pokimane Podcast – Dexerto
Nadeshot Forced to Explain the HBR Meme on the Pokimane Podcast The internet never forgets and that means that former CoD pro, Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, is constantly reminded about using the wrong gun at the wrong time. The 100 Thieves owner was once the most popular player in the pro-CoD scene as captain of OpTic Gaming, and in April 2015 he had the chance to cement his legacy as one of the all-time greats at the annual world championships. Despite coming in as the favorites his team was eliminated in 7th place after losing to Denial and FaZe Clan, and he retired after the event to pursue content creation. During that elimination match against FaZe Clan, Nadeshot confused the casters by pulling out the HBR for one life, which at the time was a fairly uncommon weapon. He died fairly quickly after equipping it and switched back to his regular weapon for his next life, but that five seconds was all it took for the internet to decide it was a meme, and it’s followed him around ever since. Nadeshot touched on the subject during his appearance on the podcast of popular streamer, Pokimane. After talking for roughly 45 minutes on various subjects, Pokimane harmlessly asked why the chat kept spamming “HBR”. With a look of pain on his face, Nadeshot explained the situation. “Chat. I don’t understand how this meme makes it throughout different communities. So the HBR. I hate you guys. I thought we had something. I thought we had something going here. The HBR discussion begins at the 1:45:45 mark below. “I’ll explain quickly. We’re at the biggest Call of Duty event of the year, it’s called Call of Duty Champs, Call of Duty Championships. We were favorites to win the event, OpTic Gaming, we’d won three events back to back to back in a row prior to this event [sigh]” After explaining why it was unusual for the HBR to be used, Nadeshot makes light of the situation and laughs that he might use it as his next emote for Twitch.

Nadeshot fires back at “truly insane” Crimsix accusations of not taking CoD Champs seriously – Dexerto
Nadeshot fires back at “truly insane” Crimsix accusations of not taking CoD Champs seriously Instagram: IanCrimsix / Instagram: NadeshotNadeshot and Crimsix are locking horns once again. Following claims made on the recent OpTic Dynasty podcast, where Crim accused Nade of not taking CoD Champs 2015 seriously enough, the 100 Thieves CEO has now fired back with a heated response. Despite both being retired from the CoD scene, former teammates Nadeshot and Crimsix are now beefing online over years-old drama. After the hotly anticipated OpTic Dynasty podcast finally went live on September 19, one particular story from the reunion gained traction across social media. Early into the movie-length conversation, Crimsix discussed the Advanced Warfare’s Champs event. With 32 teams vying for the lion’s share of a $1 million prize pool, it was one of the biggest console FPS tournaments of the year. However, the odds-on favorites fell to seventh place. Why was this the case? For Crim’s money, he believes Nadeshot wasn’t taking the event as seriously as he should have been. “The one thing I look at him differently over… At Champs in AW, this checked me, this is why I think I played like dogs***,” Crimsix opened on the OG Dynasty podcast. “We had just won four events in a row. Then on travel day, he was like ‘Yeah if we win, I’m gonna donate to charity. Tax writeoff. To Crim at the time, winning this event and cementing OpTic as the top team that year “was everything.” Hearing Nadeshot’s alleged lack of enthusiasm left him stunned. “I was just like what the f***. Even to this day, I think about it.” “You needed to win it, he just wanted it,” fellow CoD icon and teammate at the time, Scump, chimed in. Crim discusses Nade at the 8:30 timestamp below. Just days after this story gained fire online, the man in question has now issued a lengthy response on Twitter. Nadeshot fired back at Crim’s claims, blasting the accusations as “truly insane.” According to the ex-CoD superstar turned 100 Thieves CEO, it’s just a “made up, imaginary story. “It’s bizarre to hear such an unnecessary lie from eight years ago to justify his average performance,” he continued. While acknowledging the future success of the OpTic roster with Karma in his place, Nade didn’t want to let Crim entirely besmirch his name. “I helped build that team with Hector, Scump, and many others, so I’m not gonna sit back and let Ian bulls*** about my effort and competitive drive. I was ridiculed, trolled, and blamed for anything that went wrong on stage and I promise you that I’m not looking for pity. “I just want the record to be straight. I cared deeply about the success of that roster and I’m proud of the championship moments I contributed to during my tenure on OpTic. “I’ve spent the last 8 years being a footnote on that team’s legacy and I won’t let Ian’s delusions be what you remember about our roster and that tournament.” Crimsix responded right away, asking if he could call Nadeshot, but there appears to be no resolution at the time of writing. Crim even turned down an invitation to appear on The Flank and further discuss his side of the story. We’ll just have to wait and see if cooler heads will prevail or if the two CoD legends will continue to trade barbs online.

Nadeshot fires back at doubters who want see 100 Thieves fail because “they’re not OpTic” – Dexerto
Nadeshot fires back at doubters who want see 100 Thieves fail because “they’re not OpTic” 100 Thieves founder Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has come out with some strong claims against certain fans of competitive Call of Duty. According to the young CEO, there are a lot of fans out there who want to see 100 Thieves’ CoD team fail simply because they’re not OpTic Gaming. In his livestream, Nadeshot expressed his surprise and frustration to being met with so many troll and negative comments after typing in the CoD World League‘s Twitch chat. “It is unbelievable how much people want to troll or see 100 Thieves, because of the lineup that we have in Call of Duty, they want to see us fail, or they want to see us do poorly,” he said. “It is wild the mentality this community has,” he went on. “If you’re not on OpTic, people don’t care about your team, or they want to see you be less successful. It’s really unbelievable.” Of course 100 Thieves’ pro CoD team has been the topic of much discussion over the past few weeks, especially when they decided to bench Maurice ‘Fero’ Henriquez in favor of the newly acquired Preston ‘Priestahh’ Greiner. Both Nadeshot and his org received a lot of negative feedback and backlash for the move, especially since it was insinuated that the switch was made to favor star man Kenny ‘Kenny’ Williams. Not for the first time, Nadeshot had some things to say in response to those critics, claiming that it was far from an easy decision. Speaking of 100 Thieves and OpTic, both have qualified for the CWL Pro League, albeit in opposite Divisions, and will meet twice over the course of the league’s regular season. Both meetings will be must-watch games as the two powerhouse teams have yet to face off at a LAN event.

Nadeshot finally gives update on 100 Thieves’ plans for Call of Duty franchised league – Dexerto
Nadeshot finally gives update on 100 Thieves’ plans for Call of Duty franchised league Blizzard EntertainmentWith Call of Duty esports transitioning to a franchised league for next season, 100 Thieves CEO Matt ‘Nadeshot‘ Haag has finally provided an update on where their plans currently stand. The emergence of a city-based franchised league for Call of Duty has cast a degree of uncertainty towards the future of several top organizations currently competing in the esport, 100 Thieves included. If 100T do not purchase or produce the winning bid for one of the league spots, they would face the possibility of being left out of competitive CoD just a year after making their highly anticipated entrance into the scene. While their future in the esport currently remains unclear, Nadeshot has confirmed that the organization is considering trying to stick around. When asked about the potential of seeing 100 Thieves in the city-based franchise league for Call of Duty, in his July 16 interview with Forbes, the CEO said “we’re definitely still thinking through it.” One thing that could definitely help 100 Thieves in their quest to secure a league spot, should they want to do so, is the $35 million they recently raised through Series B round of funding. The funding round was led by Artist Capital Management, a New York-based private equity and growth investment firm, whose chief investment officer Josh Dienstag will now join the 100 Thieves board of directors. Read More: 100 Thieves announce new headquarters and retail location following $35 million funding round – Seeing as how Activision Blizzard have reportedly priced spots in the new CoD league starting at $25 million, the new investments could ultimately be what makes the difference between 100T staying in CoD esports and leaving. All things considered, it would be hard to see 100T making such a quick exit from CoD esports after the incredible debut season they’ve had so far. The team placed first in two of the four major tournaments this season, winning the CWL events in London and Anaheim back-to-back, and are one of the heavy favorites to win both CWL Finals and Champs – the two biggest competitions of this campaign. Not to mention, Nadeshot has a deep history in Call of Duty, and always expressed a great desire for 100 Thieves to compete in the esport ever since he founded the organization back in 2016. Call of Duty franchised league – what we know so far Despite the fact that it’s scheduled to launch for next season, there is still not much information that has been revealed about the brand new Call of Duty franchised league. The league will be city-based, with the confirmed host cities so far including Atlanta, Dallas, New York, Paris, Toronto, Los Angeles, and an undisclosed city in Minnesota.

Nadeshot Expresses Concern About New 100 Thieves CoD Pro ‘Fero’ and His Drive to Win – Dexerto
Nadeshot Expresses Concern About New 100 Thieves CoD Pro ‘Fero’ and His Drive to Win 100 Thieves CEO Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has made it clear that he desires immediate success in competitive Call of Duty, and he wants his new pro players to be on the same page. With the CoD: Black Ops 4 ‘Blackout’ Private Beta currently live, Nadeshot was trying to get some battle royale action with Maurice ‘Fero’ Henriquez, who was one of the first additions to 100 Thieves’ new CoD team. However, Fero expressed his desire to play another BR game – Fortnite, which clearly disappointed his CEO, who wants his players to focus on CoD as much as possible. “Alright bro. You’re really getting on Fort? You’re a fucking geek dude. I’m not taking it back, it’s Call of Duty battle royale! This is the game that you’re supposed to be pro on. You gotta want it bro!” The conversation quickly shifted to Nadeshot waxing philosophically about the importance of having a drive to win. Although he was never been considered to be the best Call of Duty pro in his day, no one has ever denied or questioned Nadeshot’s tenacity and passion for success, which has now carried over into his role as a leader of an esports organization. “I want it more than you, and I ain’t even playing no more bro, I want it bad. I want it more than I want to breathe. Yeah man, that’s the type of attitude you gotta have, you gotta approach this shit with. But hey man, we’re not all built the same, ya know? It is what it is. I just want it more than others man, and that’s what success leads to.” The disappointment in Nadeshot’s voice and face is hard to miss, which shows that, by his standards, the team may not be yet ready mentally to face the upcoming competitive season. However, being familiar with Nadeshot’s excellent leadership qualities, 100 Thieves fans can rest assured knowing that their CEO will have the players in the right mindset once Black Ops 4 releases in October.

Nadeshot explodes after Black Ops hackers invade ‘throwback’ CoD stream – Dexerto
Nadeshot explodes after Black Ops hackers invade ‘throwback’ CoD stream Treyarch / Twitch: NadeshotIn the leadup to Treyarch’s highly-anticipated Black Ops Cold War, Call of Duty veterans Nadeshot, 100 Thieves larrikins The Mob, and Team Summertime attempted to host a throwback stream, until hackers ruined the event. The multiplayer reveal for Black Ops Cold War is just hours away. In anticipation of the next release from Treyarch, many have been returning to previous games in the franchise. Call of Duty League players have been hosting wagers in a variety of older titles purely for entertainment in the off-season. On September 8, a huge collaboration was planned as The Mob, TST, and Nadeshot were set to go a few rounds in Black Ops 2. The throwback stream was hyped up for days as the community gathered to watch veterans return to a fan-favorite title. However, the event was short-lived. Just minutes into the stream, hackers crashed the lobby and “ruined the experience”. While Nade tried to let cooler heads prevail, frustration soon boiled over. While the players tried to get into a lobby, Mako from The Mob was having some issues. It was a struggle joining, and when he did, his name vanished from the menu. It turned out a hacker was messing with the lobby and removing Mako. Freeing up a slot in the group, a hacker soon joined straight in. “Come on man, how the f**k are people getting in?” Nadeshot asked. The lobby was private and yet still the hackers were able to gain access. At times, Mako’s name would even appear, though it was secretly a hacker stealing his nametag. “If you can hear me, brother, can you just let us do this?” Nadeshot pleaded. “We’re playing a game that’s seven years old, we’re just trying to have some fun.” “Whoever is closing our lobbies, dragging us out, I want you to know that you are a f**king dork. The definition. Who in their right mind would try to ruin a couple of boys on a Tuesday night just trying to play Black Ops 2 seven years later?” Eventually, things seemed to be working. All eight players were in the lobby together and the first match was just about to begin. It kicked off as everyone expected; players ripping into one another through game chat, The Mob ridiculing Nade for his infamous HBR play at Champs… it was all laughs while it lasted. Just moments into the first map and it all came to a screeching halt once again. Mako was removed from the match as the hacker joined in mid-map. “Just let us play one f***ing game,” Nadeshot yelled on stream. We’re not asking for much.” Even with lobbies set to private and every player appearing offline, the event was still tarnished. No matter what they tried, the hacker always made his way into the game. While it was put together as a test run for a proper throwback event, it seems those plans may be on ice until the hacker issue can be figured out. “All we wanted to do is play Black Ops 2 and relive the glory days,” Nadeshot soon followed up on Twitter. “But some dorks had to ruin that for us. Lame.” All we wanted to do is play Black Ops 2 and relive the glory days… but some dorks had to ruin that for us. Lame. — 100T Nadeshot (@Nadeshot) September 9, 2020 In the meantime, everyone looking forward to the classic Black Ops event won’t have to wait long to see the future of the franchise. The Black Ops Cold War multiplayer reveal is set to kick off on September 9.

Nadeshot explains why he was “underrated” at CoD champs and relives HBR moment – Dexerto
Nadeshot explains why he was “underrated” at CoD champs and relives HBR moment YouTube: NadeshotFour years on from the series that eliminated OpTic Gaming from the 2015 Call of Duty World Championships, Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag discusses his performance and reflects upon that HBR incident in a recent vlog. After a mixed bag of results during the season leading up to the CWL Champs in 2015, OpTic were hot favourites to take home the tournament and the lion’s share of the $1 million on offer. Before advancing to bracket play, OpTic looked dominant as they swept their group 3-0 and looked on-track to secure the first world championship for their GreenWall faithful. However, they were shortly met by a revitalized Denial Esports, who brought any chance of a Winners’ Bracket run to an immediate halt. Following a succession of wins in the Loser’s Bracket, OpTic faced FaZe Red, who produced a memorable series win which saw Nadeshot and co. eliminated from the tournament. The GreenWall and fans of the first person shooter emerged immediately after with a flurry of hatred directed towards the then captain of OpTic’s main roster, Nadeshot. Read more: Treyarch respond after Nadeshot and Priestahh highlight specialist “glitch” at CWL Champs 2019. – The iconic moment where Haag pulled out the HBR incident mid-game (in the first map of the series), is where many have pinpointed their demise. Although, the now successful CEO of 100 Thieves has since reflected upon that moment and defended his performance, claiming his performance is devalued in the context of the loss: “If anything, my performance at Call of Duty Championships is underrated.” Timestamp at 3:49 on mobile devices. As both his mentor and long-time friend, Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez began by bantering with Nadeshot, claiming: “Nothing has really changed for you, even as a competitor you were just sitting there holding a controller while everybody else did the work.” Of course, this baited a reaction from Haag, who went on to defend his performance after briefly mentioning the HBR incident. “I was double positive” responded Nadeshot, “FormaL, Crim and Scump were all negative, bro. I was turning up, they gave up – I was still fighting.” Regardless of the opinions surrounding OpTic’s exit, it will still go down as one of the biggest shocks in competitive Call of Duty, and is most definitely one for the history books. His 100 Thieves team are still alive and fighting at the 2019 CoD Champs, hoping to make up for Nadeshot’s own shortcomings. Disclaimer: Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez is a minority shareholder in Dexerto Ltd.

Nadeshot explains why he thinks Activision is wrong to use Warzone for CDL viewership – Dexerto
Nadeshot explains why he thinks Activision is wrong to use Warzone for CDL viewership YouTube: LA Thieves100 Thieves founder Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has explained why he doesn’t agree with Activision Blizzard’s plans to use battle royale hit Warzone to drive viewership to the Call of Duty League. Since the CoD League was first franchised back in 2019, there have been numerous groups of thinking in regards to how the league can drive viewership and better integrate casual players into the competitive space. With the boom of Warzone, it seemed to many that the battle royale title could be the perfect way to bring players into the competitive sphere, and according to Nadeshot, Activision themselves agree. Nadeshot, though, disagrees and has explained his frustration with the mindset and overall situation. During the LA Thieves pre-show, as Nadeshot, Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt, and GM Eric ‘Muddawg’ Sanders discussed the current news and upcoming season, Nade spoke a little about the CDL’s drawbacks and shared his opinion on them. Read More: CDL 2022 season: Standings and schedule – “I’ve heard rumbles that Warzone is going to continue to be a priority from a competitive standpoint and hoping in bringing in new members that are interested in competitive Call of Duty,” he explained. “I don’t agree with that thesis. I don’t agree with that strategy. “I think Warzone and competitive Call of Duty are completely different products and should be treated as such. I understand the frame of thought if you don’t understand the nuances of competitive Call of Duty, but nobody is going to watch a Warzone tournament with CDL players and then think to themselves ‘I gotta go watch them play on stage.’” Timestamp 13:30 Nade added that the issue starts with ranked play, saying that “there has to be ranked play from launch.” He also added that events need to start from December, rather than in February, striking while the iron is hot, before repeating that he “doesn’t agree with the Warzone strategy.” The CDL has already announced Warzone tournaments as part of the CDL season, with a mid-season tournament likely seeing top CDL pros face off against Warzone’s finest, and after that we can get a better idea of how much the game can really help the competitive side of CoD.

Nadeshot explains why he is “optimistic” about Modern Warfare 3 – Dexerto
Nadeshot explains why he is “optimistic” about Modern Warfare 3 Twitch: NadeshotLeaks suggest the next Call of Duty mainline entry will be Modern Warfare 3, and Nadeshot expressed optimism. On May 11, Insider Gaming reported that Call of Duty 2023 is called Modern Warfare 3. The game reportedly started as a premium DLC but instead morphed into a full game with content carrying over. All signs point toward Sledgehammer Games leading the charge on a project featuring the continuation of MW2’s story, new multiplayer content, and more. The studio most recently worked on COD Vanguard with other projects, including World War II and Advanced Warfare. Nadeshot caught wind of the leaks and explained why Sledgehammer Games is the right team to create the next game. Will Modern Warfare 3 be a good game? During an episode of the 100 Thieves Podcast, Nadeshot Know’s, Nadeshot talked about his thoughts on Warzone 2 Ranked and what its early success could mean for Modern Warfare 3. “I think they have some kinks to work out, but with Modern Warfare 3, Sledgehammer is developing that,” Nadeshot commented. “As long as they continue to build off what they created with Ranked Play, I think it will bring some people back, and retention will be much better.” Nadeshot also looked back on Sledgehammer’s body of work and argued it’s a good sign for Modern Warfare 3. “MW3 will be interesting to see what they do with Sledgehammer,” he said. “They caught a lot of flack for what they did with World War 2, but AW was a good game.” Some COD community members have been critical of Infinity Ward’s handling of gameplay mechanics in MW2, but Nadeshot actually came to the defense of the devs. “I think Sledgehammer is probably the most comparable in my mind when it comes to gunplay and the feeling of the fluidity of what you get with Infinity Ward, and I don’t think Activision is going to let them take too far of a departure from what Infinity Ward has built with MW2 because the core gameplay is actually really fun.” The former Call of Duty pro concluded his thoughts by expressing excitement over the next COD game. “And that’s always been the case with Infinity Ward, so I’m optimistic for MW3.” As for when fans can get their hands on Modern Warfare 3, Insider Gaming reported that the game will launch on November 10, with a reveal trailer coming in August.

Nadeshot explains why 100 Thieves will not participate in Call of Duty franchising league – Dexerto
Nadeshot explains why 100 Thieves will not participate in Call of Duty franchising league In a video posted to Twitter on August 29, 100 Thieves owner and former pro Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag has explained that the team will not be competing in Call of Duty next year. The popular team owner stressed that the announcement came with a heavy heart and it was very difficult to make. “I think everyone in our entire company is upset,” Haag said. “100 Thieves will not be a part of competitive Call of Duty next year. We will not be part of the CDL. We will not have a team competing for our brand. And I wouldn’t say this is the end,” he continued. “But we will not be fielding a roster.” After thanking the team’s fans and saying he still loves the game and its community, Nadeshot went on to blame the costs of franchising for the decision to not enter compete. “The fact of the matter is the CDL is incredibly expensive,” the former pro said. “Not only are there a lot of up front costs, but there are a tonne of operational costs that we’ll be spending money on and resources on for years.” It is with a very heavy heart we announce that 100 Thieves will not be participating in competitive Call of Duty in 2020. pic.twitter.com/cdJD9DdUvQ — 100 Thieves (@100Thieves) August 29, 2019 He went on to say that the team wasn’t prepared to make that jump to be all-in. The organization currently employs multiple people both full-time and part-time and isn’t just focused on esports, but also content creation. “We have so many different investments,” he added. “For us to make such a costly investment into Call of Duty would possibly jeopardize everything that this company has been building.” Sad boy hours. Love you guys, thanks for everything. You’ll never truly know how much this year meant to me. @Priestahh @OctaneSam @SlasheR_AL @Enable @JamesCrowder @Kuavo pic.twitter.com/taPxXx2IDO — 100T Nadeshot (@Nadeshot) August 29, 2019 “This is our brand… With the CDL, it’s possible that 100 Thieves would cease to exist the way we want it to. Our branding and our persona and our identity is the lifeblood of this company,” he added, saying how he doesn’t think it would be possible to keep the same brand with the CDL. Nadeshot also claimed that picking out a city and building a local operation team is just too much to commit to and an undertaking the company cannot afford to go all-in on. “This is not a decision that came without a heavy heart,” the team owner stressed that there was a lot of discussion regarding the team’s future. He thanked his players and teams for their incredible year including back-to-back majors in Anaheim and London. “I’m sad, I’m upset,” Nadeshot said in closing. “This is going to sting for a very long time. It’s just a shitty situation, there’s no other way to put it.”

Nadeshot explains why 100 Thieves rivalry with OpTic is so important to him – Dexerto
Nadeshot explains why 100 Thieves rivalry with OpTic is so important to him The rivalry between the OpTic Gaming and 100 Thieves Call of Duty teams doesn’t mean much yet to a lot of competitive CoD fans, but for Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, it means everything. The former OpTic Gaming player turned 100 Thieves owner has received plenty of criticism for comments he’s made in the past, including Scump shutting down claims that there’s a rivalry at all. Nadeshot has now hit out at those who claim he’s hyping it up, releasing a statement on what it means during the 100 Thieves documentary on their win at CWL London. 100 Thieves went into the tournament as the heavy favorites, but it was OpTic who had the crowd on their side. The two sides met up twice during the tournament, but when it mattered it was Nadeshot’s team who walked away the winners. “I don’t think you guys could ever understand how happy I was and how great that made me feel,” said Nadeshot after beating OG in the winner bracket final. However the former professional player did explain earlier in the video how much the rivalry between the two means. “Everyone wants to say I’m hyping up this rivalry or I’m making a big deal of a match that doesn’t matter, that these teams don’t have any history, whatever the case may be. It’s fine to say those things, but I disagree with them. This matchup between OpTic and 100 Theives is incredibly important, it is a rivalry in my mind, it’s my former team. I built the damn team with Hector and Scump for 5 fucking years, ok? For you to tell me how much it’s supposed to mean, is ignorant, it’s stupid, it’s silly. I want to beat OpTic more than any team that exists.” Timestamp: 5:54 for mobile users: Nadeshot’s comments are unlikely to go down well with the OpTic faithful, the GreenWall, but it’s possible they have more worrying issues at hand with rumors currently circulating that the organization could be bought by Immortals, with the risk of the iconic brand disappearing altogether. Ignoring that speculation for the time being and assuming nothing happens before the end of the season, the next time we’ll see OpTic and 100 Thieves CoD teams match up will be either at CWL Anaheim in June, or the CWL Pro League finals in July.

Nadeshot explains why 100 Thieves changed their mind about a CDL spot – Dexerto
Nadeshot explains why 100 Thieves changed their mind about a CDL spot YouTube/100 ThievesAfter a full year without a Call of Duty team, 100 Thieves founder and CEO, Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, has provided some insight as to why they chose to eventually invest in the CDL with their brand new franchise, the LA Thieves. Despite being one of the most successful teams in CoD during the Black Ops 4 season, winning two tournaments and placing second at the CWL World Championship, 100 Thieves declined to buy a spot in CDL for its inaugural season. The reason being was that they just couldn’t justify the $25M price tag for a franchise spot. Now, however, everything has changed after CDL’s first season, with the team acquiring the spot formerly owned by OpTic Gaming LA. In a new video, Nadeshot and 100 Thieves’ President and COO John Robinson broke down why this was the right time for the team to join. “When we were first talking to Activision a year ago, both LA franchises were spoken for. So we were going to be like Milwaukee or Memphis or Phoenix,” Robinson said. “We weren’t sure what the name of the team was going to be, we weren’t going to be in LA, that was really unappealing for us.” “Basically, it wasn’t LA,” Nadeshot stressed, further indicating that staying in Los Angeles was a key component for them. However, once they say how OpTic Gaming LA and Atlanta FaZe were working, they figured they could pull off Thieves and incorporate it into their brand. Then, once LA became available, they hopped on it. Robinson and Nadeshot said that Activision’s willingness to work with players and team owners to make changes going forward and improve the product that helped get them further on board. “The other aspect that we haven’t gotten to yet that made this so appealing was the fact that we have Kenny and SlasheR,” Nadeshot happily remarked. “Two players that built out the 100 Thieves namesake and won us two championships in their time with our organization just felt like it was the perfect storm for us to bring these players home. “The fact that we declined after a year and we had an opportunity to come to LA and bring these players home, if someone told me 365 days ago that this would be possible, I would laugh. I truly would have.” There are still some question marks surrounding LA Thieves in their current form; for one, they still need to sign a fourth started after designating Drazah as their substitute, despite the player being previously slated to start for the now-defunct OpTic Gaming LA They also have to fill in their head coaching vacancy, which will fall on the shoulders of Eric ‘Muddawg’ Sanders, 100T CoD’s former General Manager who now takes up the same role for LA Thieves. Either way, once all the dust settles, there’s no doubt that it’ll be an exciting moment with the team makes its Call of Duty League debut. Hate them or love them, 100T’s presence in CoD esports is better for all parties involved.

Nadeshot Drops a Major Hint About When 100 Thieves Will Finally Get a Call of Duty Team – Dexerto
Nadeshot Drops a Major Hint About When 100 Thieves Will Finally Get a Call of Duty Team 100 Thieves owner and CEO Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag had dropped a major hint about when his esports organization will finally sign a Call of Duty pro team. The popular YouTuber was talking about the org’s potential future in CoD esports live on his Twitch stream on May 31st. Founded in April of 2016, 100 Thieves went through a relatively long period of inactivity before exploding onto the League of Legends scene in 2018 and establishing itself as one of the most promising esports organizations in North America. However, despite this strong success, many fans have continuously asked and requested Nadeshot to introduce 100 Thieves into competitive Call of Duty, where he initially earned his fame during a long stint as a pro player for OpTic Gaming. Read More: Karma Believes He Could Improve All But Two of the CWL Pro League Teams If He Played a Particular Role – While Nadeshot has repeatedly said that he plans on steering his org in the direction of CoD esports, his latest comments mark the first time he has provided a legitimate time frame. “I said we’re going to have a Call of Duty team this year, okay. We will have a Call of Duty team this year. But I didn’t say when.” His remark about “the comments made in the chat” is in reference to him typing out this comment in the chat box of the Call of Duty stream during the highly anticipated match between OpTic Gaming and Luminosity Gaming at the CWL Pro League. However, that experiment proved to be highly unsuccessful as they placed very poorly at the MLG Anaheim Open before coming in last in the NA CWL Stage 2 Regular Season.

Nadeshot Drops Another Teaser About a Potential 100 Thieves Black Ops 4 Roster – Dexerto
Nadeshot Drops Another Teaser About a Potential 100 Thieves Black Ops 4 Roster Nadeshot / 100 ThievesMatthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has dropped yet another major hint about 100 Thieves entering the Call of Duty esports scene for the Black Ops 4 season. The former professional CoD player has been following the 2018 CWL World Championship and took to Twitter after his former team OpTic’s shocking group stage elimination. After saying that Seth ‘Scump’ Abner and Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter are still two of the three best players “to ever touch Call of Duty”, Nadeshot also pointed out that OpTic was actually trending on Twitter in the United States. Moments later he made another post, saying “The 100 Thieves Call of Duty team for Black Ops 4 is about to be WILD”. Nadeshot has made it clear in the past that he would be interested in signing one of the players that helped OpTic win the 2017 World Championship, including Matthew ‘FormaL’ Piper and the currently inactive Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow. However, it seems unlikely that anything is currently in the works as the focus of most players and organizations in recent months has been on the CWL Pro League and CoD Champs. There’s no denying the fact that Nadeshot is often thinking one step ahead of his competition, though, so you can almost guarantee that the 100 Thieves owner has already started putting serious thought into a potential Black Ops 4 take over. Yet another well timed Tweet from competitive Call of Duty’s original king of social media.

Nadeshot & Dr Disrespect slam CDL after HCS return breaks records – Dexerto
Nadeshot & Dr Disrespect slam CDL after HCS return breaks records Twitter: @nadeshot / YouTube: Dr DisrespectNadeshot and Dr Disrespect continue the Call of Duty vs Halo debate by firing shots at Vanguard following the HCS’ record-breaking return. The Call of Duty versus Halo debate is a tale as old as time. With both being FPS games and both conceived around the same time, comparing the two is natural in the gaming world. This comparison also extends into their esports. At first, Halo was king long before esports was even the coined term, but was overtaken by CoD after the release of Black Ops 2. Add what many viewed as less than ideal Halo titles in Halo 4 and 5 and the comparison was barely worth it. Now, with the release of Vanguard and Halo Infinite, the debate’s been reignited. Not only are they compared as usual but the latest CoD release “spits in the face” of CoD Esports according to the game’s pros. Nadeshot & Dr Disrespect slam CDL upon HCS’ record-breaking return One person who’s been known for his praise of Halo and was a former CoD pro himself had a lot to say following the HCS’ record-breaking return. Co-owner and CEO of 100 Thieves, Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, took to Twitter to express his disgruntlement in a lengthy thread on how the CDL has handled CoD esports and how Vanguard has affected it. – Competition needs to be a core pillar of development for Call of Duty dev studios. A fair and balanced game throughout map design, weapons and equipment is the only way to bring players back to the franchise in the most competitive gaming market in industry history — 100T Nadeshot (@Nadeshot) December 18, 2021 “Competition needs to be a core pillar of development for Call of Duty dev studios,” he said. “A fair and balanced game throughout map design, weapons and equipment is the only way to bring players back to the franchise in the most competitive gaming market in industry history.” He explained that “a game can be fun for casual players and competitive alike, ”and in order for the game to succeed in a competitive sense there needs to be an “index heavily towards competitive integrity.” – Ranked playlists cannot be an afterthought for ANY FPS title. Ranked matchmaking should be the standard and default playlist for all players when logging into client on launch day. Casual and social playlists should be secondary options in UI/UX menu design — 100T Nadeshot (@Nadeshot) December 18, 2021 That’s not all as he added that ranked playlists — a featured beloved back in Black Ops 2 — “cannot be an afterthought in any FPS title.” Mentioning that it should be standard procedure for every CoD game. In the end, Nadeshot understood that it’s bigger than just a plug and play, or just adding the playlist and that players “cannot begin to understand the complexity and layers of difficulty that come with building games.” Let’s put things in perspective. It’s been 10 years since Black Ops 2 and League Play. — Dr Disrespect (@DrDisrespect) December 18, 2021 Nadeshot wasn’t alone in these comments either as he had many others agree with his words in the replies to his thread. The likes of, YouTube streamer Dr Disrespect added, “Let’s put things in perspective. It’s been 10 years since Black Ops 2 had League Play.” While one of the founders of MLG, Adam Apicella said, “Matt, I said this months ago: CDL needs to launch within 2 weeks of launch of the new game. Would be HUGE and at the height of the engagement curve.” CoD and the CDL have been under a lot of scrutinies recently, and the HCS’ surprising return added more to that. Only time will tell if Activision will take action to help appease the pro-CoD community’s concerns.

Nadeshot discusses rumors Warzone players are switching regions for easier lobbies – Dexerto
Nadeshot discusses rumors Warzone players are switching regions for easier lobbies Instagram: @Nadeshot/Infinity Ward/ActivisionThere is speculation that Warzone players have been switching regions to find easier lobbies and achieve high-kill games. Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag discussed the rumors on stream with fellow content creator Mason ‘Symfuhny’ Lanier. [jwplayer 1zno1kMa] As Warzone is a Battle Royale, it provides a very different gameplay experience to Black Ops Cold War. Typically, it’s harder to get a lot of kills in Warzone as most of the players are spread out across a massive map. Of course, this is not always the case, with highly skilled players setting unbelievable kill records that seem impossible for casual players to achieve. These records are typically set in lobbies with a lot of low-skilled players or more commonly known as bot lobbies. As matchmaking is random, it’s luck of the draw finding the perfect lobby to achieve a record-setting game. Well, there’s speculation that some Warzone players are forcing themselves into easier lobbies by switching regions. Nadeshot discusses region switching rumors There’s been speculation in the Warzone community that certain players may be switching regions to find easier lobbies more frequently. By doing this, they can get extremely high-kill games consistently. This is of course an issue for certain tournaments that judge players based on how many overall kills they can acquire over a set amount of Warzone games. Nadeshot discussed the issue on stream with Symfuhny, stating that he’d heard a tonne of speculation that players were switching regions for easier lobbies: “Well from what I’ve heard there’s a tonne speculation that players are geo-forcing their routers into different regions so that they can have easier lobbies”. As shown in the clip, Symfuhny does let off a little laugh after Nadeshot mentions the region switching issue. It’s difficult to tell whether this means Symfuhny knows more than he is letting on or it is just coincidental. This does beg the question, which records have been set using this method? Either way, this is definitely something tournament organizers should look into to maintain fairness and competitive integrity. It’s extremely important every single player in a competition is on a level playing field.

Nadeshot devastated after OpTic H3CZ reveals destroyed MLG trophy – Dexerto
Nadeshot devastated after OpTic H3CZ reveals destroyed MLG trophy L: MLG / R: Nadeshot / TwitterFormer professional Call of Duty player, Matthew ‘Nadeshot‘ Haag, has expressed his disappointment after courier service FedEx destroyed one of his tournament winning trophies in transit, revealed by OpTic founder Hector ‘H3CZ‘ Rodriguez. Now the CEO of rival organization 100 Thieves, Nadeshot spent the majority of his playing career with OpTic Gaming, winning a total of eight tournaments across a six-year span at the top of CoD esports. One of his major wins came in his last year of competing, at the Season 1 playoffs in Advanced Warfare, where the dominant OpTic lineup netted $30,000 with their first place finish. In a video posted on April 30, H3CZ explains that he had planned to play a prank on Nadeshot, and was shipping his trophy, but the protection provided by FedEx in the packaging was seriously insufficient to protect the contents. “They thought they were just going to be able to put paper around this thing,” H3CZ explains, “this is no laughing matter, the trophy was broken – FedEx, how are you guys professionals at packing?” Nadeshot, upon seeing the video on Twitter, was stunned, hoping it was all some elaborate prank. Dude… you’ve gotta be kidding me, man. Tell me this is a joke? — 100T Nadeshot (@Nadeshot) April 29, 2019 A number of other professional players sympathized with Nadeshot, angered by the mistreatment of a fragile valuable, and something that so difficult to replace. I shed a tear watching this, You deserve some equity in the company for that — Dillon Price (@Attach) April 29, 2019 MLG’s Adam Apicella promises replacement Thankfully, MLG boss Adam Apicella has stepped up, and assured Nadeshot a replacement will be arranged following CWL London. Although there’s nothing quite like the original, it’s a nice gesture from MLG to a player who was so impactful for the growth of Call of Duty esports. As for FedEx, they responded to Rodriguez’ post, expressing their apologies, and stating they would like to help, perhaps in the form of monetary compensation.

Nadeshot demands Infinity Ward add Warzone ranked after SBMM struggles – Dexerto
Nadeshot demands Infinity Ward add Warzone ranked after SBMM struggles YouTube: 100 Thieves / Infinity WardMatthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has taken a swipe at Infinity Ward’s decision to have skill-based matchmaking, but not a ranked playlist, in the new-look Warzone battle royale and Modern Warfare’s main multiplayer modes. Skill-based matchmaking, or SBMM, has long been a hot topic in FPS titles. Devs often turn to the notorious feature to level the casual playing field, but top-level pros and streamers are a little less fond of how it changes games. While competing in KEEMSTAR’s new Warzone Wednesday tourney, Nadeshot felt as though he fell victim to the skill-based feature again. In the beginning, he and squadmates CouRage and Cloakzy were racking up 40+ kill games. The high-hauls put them in pole position for the $20,000 first-place pot. Soon, however, they began to struggle. They eventually finished third. There had been other factors, but in Nadeshot’s eyes, one thing changed the most: difficulty. SBMM seemed to take hold as his star-studded team rampaged in Verdansk, and the 100 Thieves star lashed out at the issue again. Nadeshot calls for a ranked queue in Warzone In particular, he admitted he would “never understand” why Infinity Ward — and all CoD devs for the past few years — would “go to all the trouble to implement skill-based matchmaking,” but “won’t add a ranked system.” That was the best solution for the problem, Nadeshot said. With casual lobbies keeping that “pub” feel, and ranked queues matching the best with the best, it resolved the issue. The only question was why it hadn’t happened yet. “If you’re going to match me up against better players, why can’t I have a rank to be proud of and work towards?” the 100 Thieves founder added. I’ll never understand why Call of Duty goes through all of the trouble to implement skill based matchmaking but won’t add a ranking system. If you’re going to match me up against better players, why can’t I have a rank to be proud of and work towards? — 100T Nadeshot (@Nadeshot) March 25, 2020 “I wouldn’t believe them”: Nadeshot sick of SBMM The existence of SBMM has often been a question mark in modern titles. Respawn admitted Apex Legends has skill-based queues in its public lobbies, while Modern Warfare’s devs have skirted around the topic in the past. Nadeshot is near-certain both Warzone, and the main Call of Duty title, do have some kind of SBMM though. He’s so certain, he added he “wouldn’t believe” any IW devs who suggested it wasn’t present in the 2019 release. “There are 30 million registered players playing Warzone. Somehow I consistently face off against players I know that are at the top of the leaderboards. It’s beyond coincidence,” the 100 Thieves star said. “I don’t think I’m going to match against all of those 30 million players. But even if there were a fraction of those players online in the US alone, the odds of me matching against multiple friends multiple times is absolutely absurd. “This includes players on my friends list that live all over the country so I know it’s not connection-based. I’ve fought Merk, Teepee, Maven, Crowder, JoshOG, Diego, Huskers, Crimsix, Ninja, and Noah all in the last few days MULTIPLE times.” This includes players that are on my friends list that live all over the country so I know it’s not connection based. I’ve fought Merk, Teepee, Maven, Crowder, JoshOG, Diego, Huskers, Crimsix, Ninja and Noah all in the last few days MULTIPLE times. — 100T Nadeshot (@Nadeshot) March 25, 2020 While Nadeshot is a big name in the community, it’s unlikely IW will respond to his latest SBMM swipe. Outside of a studio visit in February, the devs have never commented on matchmaking systems before. Don’t expect this to change. Devs may not comment, but YouTubers Drift0r and TheXclusiveAce did find results in new tests. They discovered there are skill-based metrics that determine lobbies, so be ready for hard battles if you stomp a few games in a row.

Nadeshot defends Modern Warfare 2 amid mass criticism – Dexerto
Nadeshot defends Modern Warfare 2 amid mass criticism Twitch: Nadeshot100 Thieves CEO and former CoD pro Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has given his honest verdict on Modern Warfare 2, providing a slightly more complimentary opinion than some other prominent members of the competitive CoD community. Before he was the successful CEO of one of the biggest esports organizations in the world, Nadeshot was a professional Call of Duty player, representing OpTic Gaming for almost the entirety of his career and winning multiple major championships. He retired during the Advanced Warfare season but, in recent years, has stayed within the CoD scene with his LA Thieves Call of Duty League franchise, so he’s always stayed active with the community and, more importantly, kept winning championships, including the World Championship in 2022. Fast forward a few months and Modern Warfare 2 has officially dropped, as the most successful CoD launch to date, surpassing 2011’s Modern Warfare 3 with $800m in sales. Despite the wild commercial success of the game, there has been some criticism levied at it, from missing features to bugs and glitches that affect the overall gameplay. With that in mind, though, Nadeshot gave his verdict on the game during a Twitch stream after launch, suggesting the backlash may be a bit much. “I have seen every iteration of Call of Duty and I have played every single one of the games,” he said. “At the end of the day, Call of Duty is Call of Duty. You get a different dev studio, you get some different maps, you get some different guns, maybe the game feels different like AW to Ghosts, Black Ops 1 to MW3. “But, it’s Infinity Ward man. The guns are fun, the game is just trying to work itself out and the way it’s going to play. But there’s just not that much variation. If you enjoyed playing Call of Duty in the past, I promise you will enjoy playing Call of Duty in this game.” He finished by saying that while it’s only been a couple of days, he’s been playing and enjoying public matches in MW2. Evidently, while Nadeshot might not be competing every day and playing in tournaments himself, he still cares a lot about the franchise and believes that Modern Warfare 2 is just as good a CoD game as any other. It’s still very early days for MW2 and, with a two-year lifecycle, players will be hoping it manages to stay fresh and can keep being fun going forward.

Nadeshot defends Kenny’s ‘arrogance’: “That’s the mindset Crimsix has” – Dexerto
Nadeshot defends Kenny’s ‘arrogance’: “That’s the mindset Crimsix has” 100 Thieves CEO Matthew ‘Nadeshot‘ Haag spoke at length on his April 30 stream about the “one-sided” conversation among fans, who treat players like Kenny ‘Kenny‘ Williams differently than veteran players like his former teammate, Ian ‘Crimsix‘ Porter. After an incredibly impressive season in CoD: WWII, Kenny was widely considered one of the very best professional players, which earned him a spot on Nadeshot’s 100 Thieves team on their return to CoD esports. A rough start to the Black Ops 4 season for Kenny saw some fans turn on him – especially as his confidence never wavered, and many accused him of having an unjustified ‘ego’. Nadeshot says Kenny hate is unfair Nadeshot explains that this accusation is unfair, as every player, regardless of how many tournaments they have won, will always go into each match believing they are the best. “When somebody like Kenny starts showing how he feels, it’s like “dude, you haven’t won enough, fuck Kenny, he’s cocky, arrogant and ignorant, he doesn’t deserve to have this type of attitude,” Nadeshot explains, “it’s a really one-sided conversation.” Nadeshot on Crimsix ‘in and out’ of the game Leading up to this, Nadeshot had been discussing his thoughts on Crimsix’ attidude in the game, explaining that although they are great friends outside of Call of Duty, “competing brings out the worst in people.” “I’m friends with Crim. Outside of Call of Duty, me and Crim have a lot in common.” Haag states, “Me and Crim are good friends, out of the game. Do I like the way that he handles himself in-game? No. But did I like the way I handled myself in-game? No.” Nadeshot continues: “I just think it’s really silly and short-sighted, for people to say they don’t like Kenny because he’s arrogant, or he’s cocky. You don’t know him personally, and even if he is cocky and arrogant, you guys say he’s not allowed to be, because he hasn’t won enough.” Crimsix is the winningest player in the history of Call of Duty in terms of tournament wins, with 32 major LAN championships under his belt, compared to Kenny’s three. The pair will have another chance to square off at CWL London, as the two teams have been placed into pool A, and will be the final mainstage match on Friday, May 3.

Nadeshot hits back at claim 100 Thieves player was “high” during CDL match – Dexerto
Nadeshot hits back at claim 100 Thieves player was “high” during CDL match Instagram: nadeshot / OPTIC TEXAS /THE ROTATIONNadeshot has come to the defense of his teammate, Ghosty after the latter was accused of using drugs during Call of Duty League matches. Matthew Haag, better known as ‘Nadeshot’ online, is not only a former professional Call of Duty player but also the founder, co-owner, and CEO of 100 Thieves. Now, he is coming to the defense of one of his team’s best players, Daniel ‘Ghosty’ Rothe, who joined the LA Thieves in September 2023. The drama first began when Daunte ‘Sib’ Gray accused Ghosty of smoking weed before matches, resulting in fans of the game demanding to hear Nadeshot’s take on the situation. Reaching out to Nadeshot via X (formerly Twitter), user ‘karlruss17‘ wrote, “Nadeshot, one of your [players] Ghosty is playing [official] CDL [matches] while high on weed.” Karl then told the 100 Thieves CEO to “address this issue” before those running the game’s matches “find out”. However, Nadeshot hit back by taking Ghosty’s side on the matter. “I got no idea if he is but that man has been slamming all year, I got half a mind to go smoke that chronic with him,” Nadeshot responded, before calling out Karl for throwing Ghosty under the bus. “Nobody likes a narc, kick rocks pal.” He then went on to share a screenshot of the response, writing, “We’re smoking weed live on stream in solidarity with [Ghosty].” In the United States, cannabis is legal in 24 of 50 states for recreational use. Many have since praised Nadeshot for his response to the situation; “This is what they meant by leading by example.” “Performance enhancing? Nah, just vibe and chill,” one person wrote. A second user said, “I’m so proud of you Daniel.” However, not all were on board with Nadeshot’s take, one user claiming, “Streamers continue to set horrible examples for kids.” Another said, “Then people wonder why esports isn’t taken more serious. Much love Nade but horrible take and position to have.”

Nadeshot defends Aydan amid Warzone 2 hacking accusations from ‘sus’ clip – Dexerto
Nadeshot defends Aydan amid Warzone 2 hacking accusations from ‘sus’ clip NYSL / IG: NadeshotFormer Call of Duty pro Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has defended streamer Aydan from hacking accusations after a Warzone 2 clip was described as “sus” and provoked discussion online. The first WZ, despite improvements after the introduction of RICOCHET in December 2021, saw its entire life cycle marred by the prevalence of cheating at all levels of play. Warzone 2, thankfully, has experienced far less in the way of hacking and cheating than its predecessor. Regardless, a number of prominent and talented players continue to face unsubstantiated hacking accusations for their gameplay. A well known case was that of Nadia, who faced countless accusations from the community before the whole affair culminated in a bizarre mock proposal by Censor. Now, ‘hackusations’ have found their way to Aydan, a former Fortnite pro who streams Warzone 2 with immense success. Nadeshot defends Aydan amid Warzone 2 hacking accusations A clip of Aydan locking onto a gliding enemy and swiftly eliminating them surfaced on social media, with some claiming it was evidence of cheating. However, 100 Thieves founder and former CoD pro Nadeshot has now defended Aydan. “This clip of Aydan’s got the comments so pressed,” Nade said in a TikTok. “‘Aydan’s cheating, Aydan’s using a Cronus.’ Guys, this motherf**ker is flying in a straight line with his parachute out. He’s moving so slow. He started to turn as the first couple of hitmarkers start connecting but other than that, this is not a hard shot to hit.” A Cronus is a device that attaches scripts to a controller, allowing players to control recoil to a greater extent or fire faster. They are notoriously hard to detect and are regularly thrown at talented players in hacking accusations. Nade continued: “It’s Call of Duty man, this game has been the same way for years. Yeah Warzone 2 time to kill is a little faster, aim assist is a little broken. It’s [always] been this way, we gotta stop having the same conversations.” Aydan himself has not responded to these specific accusations but has, in the past, mocked the allegations regularly, joking that he is going live with cheats and other retorts. Nadeshot Confirms He Planned to Compete in WWII with Original Ground Zero Roster – Dexerto
Nadeshot Confirms He Planned to Compete in WWII with Original Ground Zero Roster 100 Thieves founder and former professional CoD player Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag revealed that he almost returned to competition at the start of the WWII season, and even had a roster lined up. Nadeshot retired from competing in 2015, after a disappointing 7th place at the World Championship, and focused on his YouTube channel, before starting his own organization a year later. But despite being a succesful YouTuber and having his 100 Thieves organization enter the NA LCS, Nadeshot’s itch for competition almost got the best of him. More: Shroud’s Controller Disconnects at the Worst Possible Moment While Playing the New ‘Blackout’ Private Beta – The ‘Ground Zero’ team at the start of the WWII season consisted of Chris “Parasite” Duarte, Maurice “Fero” Henriquez, Rasim “Blazt” Ogresevic and Marcus “MBoZe” Blanks. We reported that it was rumored at the start of the season that this would be the lineup for 100 Thieves, with Nadeshot in place of MBoZe, but it never came to fruition. And Nadeshot has now confirmed that those rumors were true. “Me and Fero were going to team for WWII. It was going to be me, Fero, Blazt and Parasite.” Ground Zero, with MBoZe on the roster, managed top eight in their first CWL 2K tournament together, but MBoZe then dropped his ambitions of competing in the WWII season. The team recruited Jeremy “StuDyy” Astacio in his place, and this lineup managed top 12 at the first open tournament of the season, CWL Dallas. After splitting, Fero went on to have the best season, joining Team Kaliber after Stage One, winning his first event with tK at Stage Two Playoffs, and finishing 2nd at the World Championship. Thanks to his performances, he earned his spot on Nadeshot’s 100 Thieves roster for the Black Ops 4 season, although it’s unlikely Nade will be playing on this one.

Nadeshot confident that LA Thieves “difficult” CDL season can end on a high note – Dexerto
Nadeshot confident that LA Thieves “difficult” CDL season can end on a high note Los Angeles Thieves / Instagram: NadeshotThe Los Angeles Thieves have endured plenty of highs and lows throughout the 2021 Call of Duty League season, but CEO Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag is confident the “difficult” year will end on a high note. It’s been a challenging first year in the CDL for the LA Thieves. Despite a fairly hot start with a 4-1 record in Stage 1, results have been a mixed bag ever since. Seven roster shuffles across the following Stages have contributed to a spot among the top six in the overall standings. Despite these numerous “difficult” adjustments, the latest starting lineup could be the final iteration we see in 2021. After surprisingly benching Huke just days after signing him, the former Dallas Empire champion is now back in the mix alongside veteran SlasheR who rejoins after a nine-week stint on the bench. With all the pieces now in place, Nadeshot took some time to reflect on their first CDL season in a June 10 sit-down with H3CZ. While he admits it’s been a “difficult” year, the LA Thieves CEO is confident moving forward. I know we have shifted this roster around quite a bit this year with a variety of talented Call of Duty players but with LAN events back on the horizon, we decided to field a lineup with star studded veteran talent with proven results. Looking forward to the rest of the season. https://t.co/aEOHpwqdwT — 100T Nadeshot (@Nadeshot) June 9, 2021 “We have tried and tested a bunch of different lineups with a bunch of different players,” Nadeshot acknowledged. “I know it might be confusing from the public’s eye and I understand it. But I actually think this year has been super informative.” With young recruits Drazah and Venom getting their fair share of playtime in official matches, the many LA roster shuffles are justified in the long run, according to Nade. “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with experimenting with different lineups. “If you have a team like FaZe or Toronto… Those teams look unbeatable. When you have young talent that has never had an opportunity to try and shine, why not give them the opportunity?” The relevant topic begins at the 35:25 mark below. With the rookies now back on the bench, however, Nadeshot turned his attention to the remainder of the 2021 season. Ultimately, the first four Stages have been “turbulent and difficult,” but the final act this year could end on a more positive note, he argued. “Moving back into the rest of the year, with LAN coming back, I think Slasher, Huke, TJ, and Kenny give us our best shot at winning. Currently hosting the final week of Stage 4 action ahead of the Major, the LA Thieves’ next matchup pits them against Minnesota ROKKR on June 11. Only time will tell if this version of the roster holds together for the rest of the year.

Nadeshot claims Scump would be “5x bigger” if he quit competing – Dexerto
Nadeshot claims Scump would be “5x bigger” if he quit competing MLG / Eavesdrop Podcast[jwplayer fKo7sjsG] 100 Thieves CEO Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag is confident that his former OpTic Gaming teammate, Seth ‘Scump’ Abner, would be a much more prominent figure if he stopped competing professionally in Call of Duty and instead focused on content creation. Few names are as big in the world of Call of Duty as that of Scump, who has already cemented his legacy as one of the greatest CoD pros in the esport’s history. He’s always been a premier content creator as well, both in terms of YouTube videos and livestreaming, but he’s still got a lot more room to fill his potential, at least according to Nadeshot. Appearing on Chicago Huntmen CEO Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez’s Eavesdrop Podcast, the 100 Thieves founder explained why he thinks Scump can be “five times bigger” if he prioritized content over competition. “If Seth would have quit Call of Duty and went full time on Fortnite and was a full-time Warzone streamer, he’d be five times as big as he is now,” Nadeshot said. “He doesn’t even give a f**k about his YouTube channel. He goes on year-long hiatuses.” “He has like 6,000 concurrents [viewers] while everybody else is streaming Warzone and he’s playing scrims. He’s not even talking to the chat, he’s not even trying. If Seth applied himself and quit all this competing bullshit, he’d be… forget about it!” (Segment begins at 40:20 mark) While we may never know until if and when Scump does decide to switch to content creation full-time, but it’s hard to argue against Nadeshot’s claims. For as big of an esports scene Call of Duty has, most of the pro players find it difficult to consistently pull lots of viewers while streaming. Scump’s been one of the very few who’s managed to break through that glass ceiling, so it’s likely that if he put the effort into that side of CoD as opposed to competing, there could be a lot more doors that open for him down the line. Read More: Crimsix shows off driving skill on track in Porsche GT3 RS – The numbers support this as well. Out of all active professional CoD players, he has the most subscribers on YouTube (2.53 million) and followers on Twitch (893,000), so the stage is there for him to perform on. Needless to say, Scump won’t be competing forever and, as sad as it is for fans to hear, there will come a day when the 2017 World Champion decides to call it quits. The question then will become whether or not he’ll be willing to reinvest that time and energy into content creation and become a huge star once again, so we’ll just have to wait and see.

Nadeshot claims OpTic’s Crimsix was “blatantly lying” about 100 Thieves scrims debate – Dexerto
Nadeshot claims OpTic’s Crimsix was “blatantly lying” about 100 Thieves scrims debate YouTube / 100 ThievesIn the lead up to 100 Thieves much anticipated match against OpTic Gaming in the CWL Pro League – the first time the two sides have faced each other in the Black Ops 4 season on LAN – Nadeshot had a few things to say in 100T’s latest YouTube video. For many years, Nadeshot was pretty much the face of OpTic Gaming. He was synonymous with the brand, as a competitive player, as well as a streamer and YouTuber. But, as any fan of Call of Duty esports will know, this chapter of his life ended after seventh place finish at the 2015 World Championship, as the fans piled the blame on their ‘star’ player, who was underperforming. Nadeshot relived these moments in 100 Thieves’ April 3 YouTube video, and told the story of how he came to be rivals with OpTic, as his organization aims to take them down in the league on April 4. He also touched on the Twitter controversy which took place between members of both rosters in March, when 100T’s Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt claimed that Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter had lied about the reasons for scrim session being cancelled. Nadeshot corroborated his player’s side of the story, saying he “wanted to jump in so badly and tell Crimsix ‘you are blatantly lying’”, claiming that OpTic had been late to the scrims every day. Timestamp at 6:55 for mobile users. “They were late. It’s an absolute, it’s not up for debate, OpTic was late to scrims almost every single day. That was ridiculous, Crimsix was blatantly lying. OpTic was late, it caused schedules to be off balance and scrims got messed up because OpTic was late.” As for the match itself, which will close out the final week of cross-division play, Nadeshot is very confident that 100 Thieves have what it takes to beat the CWL Las Vegas champions. “I have a feeling OpTic Gaming are a little worried about our team. We were beating them pretty swiftly in the pre-LAN, we were winning every scrim series,” Nadeshot explained, “Scump came up to me and was like ‘you’ve got yourself a top three team now.” Winning scrim series is one thing though, and a match with more pressure in the Pro League will be a different test, for both sets of players.

Nadeshot very quickly changes his mind about returning to competitive CoD – Dexerto
Nadeshot very quickly changes his mind about returning to competitive CoD Black Ops 4 has gotten the competitive juices of the Call of Duty community flowing, but it looks like not everyone is cut out for the big time. All throughout launch week of Black Ops 4, 100 Thieves CEO Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has been putting in a ton of time with the game on his stream, even competing in Dr Disrespect’s Code Red Blackout tournament on October 18. Given the fact that Nadeshot is a former player, it’s no surprise that he might have been feeling the itch to get back into competing after seeing all the hype surrounding the game’s release. During a recent stream, Nadeshot was particular feeling good about his chances and vowed to grab his jersey and get back into the swing of things. Read More: Call of Duty’s Black Market returns to Black Ops 4 today – New Blackout characters, specialists outfits, signature weapons and more – “I’m nasty already. Bro, I’m coming back. Fuck it, I’m quitting 100 Thieves. I don’t wanna be CEO,” declared Nadeshot in a moment of extreme confidence. Unfortunately for Nadeshot, he’s immediately gunned down mid-sentence, realizing that he may have gotten ahead of himself a bit. After quickly clearing his throat, Nadeshot snaps back to reality and says he “really loves being the CEO of [100 Thieves]” and that he “loves working on the business rather than playing.” To add insult to injury, Nadeshot loses one more gunfight for good measure and declares that he’s “never coming back.” 100 Thieves might have one of the most stacked rosters heading into the upcoming Black Ops 4 season, but it doesn’t look like their CEO will be joining them anytime soon.

Nadeshot raises major concerns about Call of Duty franchised league – Dexerto
Nadeshot raises major concerns about Call of Duty franchised league 100 Thieves/MLGIn an interview with ESPN Esports, Matthew ‘Nadeshot‘ Haag explained why he is optimistic, but also concerned about the upcoming franchising of the Call of Duty World League. 100 Thieves is only less than two years old, but its quick rise to becoming an esports powerhouse has been nothing short of spectacular. Owner and founder Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag is proud of the brand he has helped build, which is why he’s a little nervous about franchising. “The way that Activision and Blizzard are handling team branding is definitely a concern of mine,” he told ESPN. “For 100 Thieves, we’re very much focused on 100 Thieves, and we’re building beyond just gaming, so that’s definitely been one of the reservations in my mind…because we’d have to build out an entirely different asset and brand.” This is a very reasonable concern from Nadeshot. Lots of other esports organization owners had to put resources into developing new assets and brands for the Overwatch League when they announced that the franchises would be exclusive to Overwatch League. But Nadeshot wasn’t entirely critical of the job that Activision and Blizzard have done. “They’ve done an incredible job from a sales perspective. They’re monetizing the league very well. I’ve talked to a lot of different owners about their experience in Overwatch, and there’s some positives and a lot of negatives. I’m cautiously optimistic.” Nadeshot then switched the discussion to Call of Duty esports, and similar to his analysis of Overwatch League practices, relayed that Activision had “done alot of good, but there’s a lot that they could do better.” When asked about specific positives and negatives of franchising on an organization, Nadeshot noted the lack of volatility as the biggest positive, citing the struggles of relegation on organizations during the pre-franchise days of the LCS. He does have a point here: while yes, relegation does stoke the flames of competition by giving teams a reason not to be bad, it can be a struggle for organizations trying to get funding and maintain sponsorships if they end up being relegated to a lower league. Nadeshot circled back to his earlier point about branding as a primary negative for franchising organizations. “You have these household brands that have been built over the past decade, why wipe that away?” 100 Thieves’ NA LCS roster finished dead last in Championship points for 2019, with zero points earned between the Spring and Summer Split. Their famed Call of Duty roster made it all the way to the grand finals of the Call of Duty World League Championships, before falling to eUnited 3-2.

Nadeshot calls out CoD devs after bug almost costs LA Thieves $500k CDL Major – Dexerto
Nadeshot calls out CoD devs after bug almost costs LA Thieves $500k CDL Major YouTube: Nadeshot100 Thieves CEO and former Call of Duty pro Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag couldn’t contain his frustration after an annoying CoD: Vanguard bug cost his LA Thieves CDL team, almost ruining their tournament hopes in an intense $500k grand final. LA Thieves have long been one of the most popular organizations in Call of Duty but, besides a strong run in Black Ops 4, have failed to live up to the billing in recent years. At Major 4, though, they were impeccable, losing just one match, a winner’s final faceoff against New York Subliners, who they went on to beat in the Grand Final just a few hours later. In the best of 9 grand final, however, LA Thieves’ star SMG player Envoy was hit with a particularly nasty bug after climbing a ladder, stopping them from shooting his opponent. The Thieves went on to lose the round, handing the map win to Subliners and putting them up 3-2 in the series. While the players themselves would naturally have been disappointed that this bug — which has existed in the game since at least February — had possibly cost them the map, they had to remain mentally prepared for the next map. Nadeshot, though, watching from home, was furious, and took to social media to call out the issue and send a message to the Vanguard developers Sledgehammer Games. In a run of tweets, Nade said that he was “mindblown” and called the situation a “f**king joke” before sending a tweet directly to Sledgehammer Games simply saying a sarcastic “thanks.” The glitch didn’t end up having too much of an impact on the overall score — LA went on to win 5-3, not allowing the lost Bocage to affect them too much, but no doubt there will have been fireworks had the series gone the other way. It’s not all commiserations over in the Subliners camp, either. While they will no doubt be disappointed to have lost in the final, the fact that they managed to make the miracle run they did to qualify for CDL Champs was a huge victory in itself. Hopefully, by then, that ladder glitch will have been fixed once and for all.

Nadeshot calls out Cellium after FaZe suffer another CDL Major final loss – Dexerto
Nadeshot calls out Cellium after FaZe suffer another CDL Major final loss 100 Thieves & Atlanta FaZeFormer Call of Duty pro Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag recognizes the talent of Atlanta FaZe’s McArthur ‘Cellium’ Jovel, but he believes something needs to change for him to win more championships. Atlanta consistently plays well online every season and places high in CDL Major tournaments. However, FaZe has appeared in six Major Grand Finals over the past two COD titles, but the team has only won twice. What’s more, they didn’t win a single tournament in COD Vanguard despite making four finals. If you compare that stretch to the Call of Duty: Cold War season, Atlanta won four out of its five Grand Final appearances, including a World Championship victory. So, despite going on a dominant three-year run, the number of Major victories has drastically slowed. After suffering another heartbreaking loss at CDL Major 5 this past weekend, Nadeshot believes Cellium may need to change his playstyle. Nadeshot claims something is wrong with Cellium’s gameplay Cellium had the highest KD of 1.21 at CDL Major 5, but FaZe ultimately lost 4-3 to New York Subliners in the Grand Final. In the latest episode of Nadeshot Knows, the former COD dissected what he believes was a “catastrophic breakdown.” “Three of the players on NYSL had a negative overall KD after a seven-game series. Meanwhile, FaZe had three people positive. That is painting a story that I don’t think enough people are talking about.” Nadeshot respects Cellium’s skill and called him an “unbelievable player” but argued that “something has got to give.” “You can not be walking out of a series where you lose, and they have lost in the finals a couple of times over the past two years, and this guy is walking out of there with like a 1.3 KD.” Despite putting up strong individual major performances, Nadeshot argued that “something is wrong” with Cellium’s gameplay. “From my experience playing, there is a time and place to worry about stats.” Nadeshot acknowledged that he feels for the Atlanta Faze players but argued that the talented roster should have closed out more tournaments over the past two seasons.

Nadeshot clarifies SBMM argument in Black Ops Cold War rant – Dexerto
Nadeshot clarifies SBMM argument in Black Ops Cold War rant Activision/YouTube: NadeshotUpdate (December 2 – 6:00 PM PT): Nadeshot has since followed up on his Skill-Based Matchmaking rant, addressing how it’s easy to lose your temper while grinding for specific weapon camo challenges. “SBMM is a topic of discussion that has a lot of nuances,” he said in a December 2 follow-up tweet. “What I really want to clarify once and for all… I don’t have a fear of playing players as good as me. I don’t disagree with the idea of playing against players as good as me. All I’m asking for is that people see the level of skill I’m playing at.” Obviously, a ranked playlist of sorts has been requested to no end in the community. While the feature has been subtly confirmed, it’s still yet to enter the game. Therefore, the only form of matchmaking is standard public games, which happen to have SBMM cranked all the way up. Regarding my comments on Skill Based Matchmaking from my stream yesterday. pic.twitter.com/Ypu4tLzjvE — 100T Nadeshot (@Nadeshot) December 3, 2020 “If I’m going up against six starting players in the Call of Duty League, I want a rank to reflect that. I understand why SBMM is a necessity, I just don’t agree with the way it’s presented. Right now it’s ambiguous, you never really know who you’re up against and the level of skill they’re at.” The original story is as follows. Skill-based matchmaking has been a major complaint from top Call of Duty players for years now, and 100 Thieves CEO and former pro player Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has finally snapped, going on a rant against SBMM in the new Black Ops Cold War. Nadeshot has never made it a secret that he, alongside a huge number of Call of Duty players, is anti-SBMM. Though the sentiment makes sense — pit players of equal skill against one another — in practice, many players aren’t happy with it and want to see it removed or at least tuned down. Nadeshot clearly falls into that category, and let his opinion be known during a December 1 stream while playing on the latest edition of Nuketown, Nuketown ‘84. As you can tell immediately from the scoreline alone and the carnage unfolding around him, the match is an intense one, and he wasn’t impressed. He said: “It’s time to lower the skill-based matchmaking. This is not fun. I know we want the kids that have never played Call of Duty to be in a safe space, but please stop alienating the people that have been playing your game for over a decade.” That wasn’t all, though, as Haag continued to complain as he struggled to make much of an impact on the game. “This is not an enjoyable experience,” he said. “Especially trying to get the challenges done on these weapons… Everyone’s got a scorestreak because it’s participation and not skill.” Both the SBMM and scorestreak complaints have been popular ones for Black Ops Cold War players, and the sentiment seems to be echoed from the top down. Whether Activision or Treyarch make changes to either issue remains to be seen, but we might not see Nadeshot streaming Black Ops Cold War for too much longer at this rate.

Nadeshot calls for “comprehensive ranked system” in Warzone 2 as player count plummets – Dexerto
Nadeshot calls for “comprehensive ranked system” in Warzone 2 as player count plummets YouTube: LA ThievesFormer Call of Duty pro and 100 Thieves founder Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has called for the Warzone devs to add a robust ranked system as the BR’s player count continues to drop. Since its release in November, Warzone 2’s player count has been on a decline. While MW2 smashed sales records, the popular battle royale reached its peak just a couple of days after launch — and the player count has continued to gradually drop since. In fact, in a January 14 tweet, Warzone streamer TcTekk claimed the game would be dead if it wasn’t for nukes — which have played a massive in making the game more fun as players have something to work towards. The streamer added that when he goes for a nuke streak, his viewership increases significantly as he gets closer to the final game. Nadeshot demands ranked in Warzone 2 To combat the declining interest in the game, former CoD pro Nadeshot has suggested for the devs to add a ranked system that would make every game worth trying your hardest. “Now imagine we had a comprehensive ranked system that made every single game worth trying your hardest, not just game 4 or 5 of your nuke streak,” Nadeshot wrote. “It’s not a coincidence that the shooter titles(barring a couple exceptions) that have withstood the test of time all have Ranked Play.” He added: “The obvious argument back is the fact that Call of Duty has been around as long as the rest but I think that’s largely due to the core gameplay and tight controls plus a new iteration of the game every year. “I know it’s successful, but it could be so much more with Ranked Play.” The community has certainly been critical of the BR sequel, with players hitting out at the devs for numerous reasons. Nadeshot has previously explained how he actually wants Call of Duty to “flop”, believing it would be the best thing for the series. With Season 2 set for a February 1 release, it would be the perfect time for the devs to add a ranked playlist.

Nadeshot calls for armor nerfs in the Call of Duty: Blackout private beta – Dexerto
Nadeshot calls for armor nerfs in the Call of Duty: Blackout private beta Nadeshot – Instagram, Treyarch100 Thieves CEO and founder Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has complained about the strength of the armor in the Call of Duty: Blackout private beta. Nadeshot had a bit of an emotional moment after suffering a loss in Blackout, rising from his chair and kicking out at something, cursing as he did so. While his chat found the incident hilarious, Nadeshot had a legitimate reason for his outburst – the strength of the armor in the current version of the game. Read More: Analysts Predict That Call of Duty’s ‘Blackout’ Battle Royale Mode Will “Thrive” Against Fortnite – He stated that Blackout’s armor is too strong, and that he had dealt a reasonable amount of damage to his opponent. “That armor is nuts, man! They’ve gotta nerf armor. How many times do I gotta shoot that guy? Bro, I just lit that guy up.” Nadeshot isn’t the only player who has issues with the armor – other users on Twitter have voiced similar opinions, calling for a nerf to the gear. Jason Wilhem, gaming director at Studio71, has said that that armor is Blackout’s biggest problem: “Armor seems to be the biggest complaint I see from the Blackout Beta. I think this would solve the issue. Maybe even keep tier 2 armor but take out tier 3 for sure.” While the Blackout battle royale mode is currently in beta, the game has already received an update, with Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar detailing the changes via his Twitter account. Though still rife with glitches, analysts have reported that Blackout is already set to compete with Fortnite. The Blackout Private Beta is currently live on Playstation 4, and will go live on both Xbox One and PC starting on September 14. The beta will end for all platforms on September 17, although PC players will be able to enjoy an open beta from September 15-17.

Nadeshot breaks down why 100 Thieves are struggling at CWL Pro League Qualifier – Dexerto
Nadeshot breaks down why 100 Thieves are struggling at CWL Pro League Qualifier With 100 Thieves struggling heavily during the first two days of the CWL Pro League Qualifier, it was only a matter of time before Founder and CEO Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag shared his thoughts on the team’s rough start. The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 season certainly hasn’t been kind to 100 Thieves, who first finished just 9th-12th at CWL Vegas and have now fallen to 1-2 in Pool C at the CWL Pro League Qualifier. With the team’s struggles being at the forefront of everyone’s minds, it was no surprise to see Nadeshot get asked about it during 100 Thieves’ first official stream on their official Twitch Channel. Nadeshot and Jackson Dahl, a member of 100 Thieves’ Found Team, were getting ready to commentate the team’s League of Legends Academy team’s match when Nadeshot was asked for his thoughts on the CoD team. While he initially met the question in jest, saying “Fine, I’ll do it myself” in reference to the infamous line spoken by Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Thanos, Nadeshot quickly got serious and shared his true thoughts on the matter. “Candidly, we’re not playing well,” Nadeshot said about his team’s performance thus far. “We have some serious issues with Hardpoint. Our teamwork is struggling. We need to reel it back in. We only have one chance to qualify [for the Pro League]. We’re 1-2 in the Pool. It doesn’t look great right now.” At the end of the day, however, Nadeshot remains confident in the roster that he put together, ending with a positive outlook on the rest of the tournament. “But if there’s any team that can pull it off, I think it’d be 100 Thieves with just the amount of talent our team has,” concluded Nadeshot. If 100 Thieves hopes to live up to the expectations of Nadeshot, they’ll have to turn things around in a hurry given that the bottom two teams at the end of Pool Play on Saturday, January 19 will be eliminated from contention altogether. The team will immediately look ahead to matches against Mazer Gaming and Overtime eSport on January 18 before closing out Pool Play against Excelerate Gaming the following day.

Nadeshot Believes Treyarch Have to Do One Major Thing With Blackout to Keep Up With Fortnite – Dexerto
Nadeshot Believes Treyarch Have to Do One Major Thing With Blackout to Keep Up With Fortnite Since its reveal, many have wondered how Black Ops 4’s upcoming ‘Blackout’ mode would stand up against the likes of Fortnite, which has become, by far, the most popular game in the battle royale genre. While many are not expecting Blackout to challenge Fortnite any time soon, some believe that there are things Treyarch can do for their game to at least keep up. 100 Thieves CEO and former CoD pro player Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag thinks that Treyarch’s tallest and most important task will be to adapt to the player-base. This is Call of Duty Battle Royale. I think Treyarch’s biggest challenge will be adaptation. With how often Epic has changed their map with new points of interests and in-game content, I feel like they’ve set a wildly high precedent for Battle Royale. I hope CoD can keep up. It will undoubtedly be difficult for Treyarch to bring Blackout to the standards the battle royale community has come to expect, especially since this will be the first BR game in Call of Duty history. Their best bet may be to consistently pump new content into the game and make changes based on the feedback their receive from the player-base. Blackout will be released on October 12 as part of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Players can try the mode out early in the Private Beta that will start on September 10 for the PS4 and September 14 for the Xbox One and PC. Nadeshot believes Modern Warfare 3 will provide everything “we have been asking for” – Dexerto
Nadeshot believes Modern Warfare 3 will provide everything “we have been asking for” ActivisionNadeshot claimed: Modern Warfare 3 developer “Sledgehammer is dropping the hammer” on MW2’s Infinity Ward amid rumors of long-awaited legacy features returning. Historically, COD multiplayer mini-maps reveal an enemy’s location when they fire a non-suppressed weapon. Modern Warfare 2 controversially hides players from the mini-map when firing their weapons. Some community members bashed the decision, but Infinity Ward argued: “We do not want to punish players for firing their weapons.” This comes after the same development team controversially removed Ninja as a Perk in Modern Warfare 2019, which allows players to move silently across the map. In July, a Modern Warfare 3 leak revealed the return of the classic mini-map and Ninja Perk. Nadeshot shared his thoughts on the rumors and what it means for the future of COD. Modern Warfare 3 rumoured features have Nadeshot excited Nadeshot claimed: “Infinity Ward looked at the COD community who cares more about this game than anyone and said, f**k you.” The former professional COD player understands why the devs made their own decisions but slammed Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 for changing core mechanics “that nobody asked to change.” The 100 Thieves Owner specifically criticized Infinity Ward for removing Dead Silence as a Perk in Modern Warfare 2019 and removing red dots on mini-maps in MW2. “Give us the f**king red dots back. I would say the mini-map was more important than 90% core mechanics in COD.” Rumors of Sledgehammer bringing back the classic mini-map, slide canceling, and Ninja Perk restored Nadeshot’s faith in the series moving forward. “They are basically taking all of the things that people love from the original Warzone and the core sweaty mechanics from core COD, and they are bringing it back. This is the best thing they could do.” Nadeshot acknowledged that Sledgehammer has received criticism in the past for its work on previous titles but credited the dev team for “giving us everything we have been asking for.” It’s yet to be confirmed if Modern Warfare 3 will bring back the long-awaited legacy features. But if they do, Nadeshot is ready to praise Sledgehammer for “giving back” what Infinity Ward took away. For more on Modern Warfare 3 leaks, make sure to check out our full guide.

Nadeshot believes he may have already had coronavirus – Dexerto
Nadeshot believes he may have already had coronavirus Instagram: Nadeshot/PixabayPopular Twitch streamer and esports entrepreneur Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has revealed that he believes he may have already had coronavirus, as the global pandemic continues to worsen across much of the world. Nadeshot is one of the biggest names in the esports community. A successful career in Call of Duty provided the American with a huge, loyal fanbase, which has since been augmented with successful ventures into more entrepreneurial aspects of esports. The 27-year-old has been streaming a multitude of games over the past couple of years, but has recently gravitated back to his roots with the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone, as the new battle royale captivates CoD fans. During a March 13 Warzone stream, Nadeshot revealed that he thinks he may have already had Coronavirus, as the sickness continues to spread around much of the world. It has already caused chaos in the esports community, with many events and tournaments postponed for later dates. The United States recently declared a national emergency. Much to the surprise of Nade’s viewers, he revealed that he may have already had the respiratory infection: “I went to Vegas with Tim and Ninja and Jack at the end of January for the Conor McGregor fight,” he said. “After I got back, I had the worst flu that I have ever had.” “I had a 103-degree (39.4*C) fever for five days,” he explained. A high bodily temperature, alongside a dry cough, is one of the most common symptoms for coronavirus. “I fully recovered and felt totally fine,” he continued. “But everybody that went got like, deathly ill. Me and Jess, Tyler’s wife, got it the worst. Hector [H3CZ] got sick, his wife got sick, she was there too. She got tested and the doctor said she had Influenza-A, and CNN said that doctors didn’t know how to properly test for corona and they were mistaking it for Influenza-A.” “I might have already had coronavirus, no bullsh*t,” he finished. Understandably, many of Nade’s viewers were surprised by the possibility, but also pleased that many of the people who fell ill have since fully recovered. Many younger and healthy people are expected to recover fully from coronavirus, while the elderly and those with underlying health conditions are more likely to become seriously ill. While it remains unconfirmed what illness Nade and his friends may have actually had, it serves as a reminder that most people will fully recover, provided they act rationally and isolate appropriately. Keep washing those hands.

Nadeshot believes classic CoD maps in Modern Warfare aren’t the answer – Dexerto
Nadeshot believes classic CoD maps in Modern Warfare aren’t the answer With the re-introduction of classic Call of Duty 4 maps to Modern Warfare, Nadeshot has explained why he isn’t excited about classic maps being brought back to the franchise. Modern Warfare has had its fair share of critics since its October 2019 release, with complaints about map design, score-based matchmaking, and overpowered weaponry. Now, though, they’re bringing back some classic Call of Duty maps for fans to enjoy – for free – which most people are huge fans of. But not everybody. After the reveal of Crash, Vacant and Shipment coming back to the franchise in Modern Warfare’s season one content drop, Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag seemed somewhat displeased with the return. In a tweet posted on December 2, he said: “This is my opinion so it may be different from yours — I wish Call of Duty would stop reintroducing old maps into new games. I want incredible new maps to create new memories and experiences. I played Crash and Vacant too many hours to count in multiple games. I want new.” This is my opinion so it may be different from yours — I wish Call of Duty would stop reintroducing old maps into new games. I want incredible new maps to create new memories and experiences. I played Crash and Vacant too many hours to count in multiple games. I want new. — 100T Nadeshot (@Nadeshot) December 2, 2019 Nadeshot makes a good point with this tweet. Each of these maps were originally made for CoD4, but since then Crash has been revisited four times (including in Modern Warfare), Vacant three times, and Shipment four times, and that’s not including the likes of ‘Christmas Crash’. There’s also definitely an air of nostalgia around so many classic Call of Duty maps – Crash, Terminal, Highrise, Raid and more – that entices both players to play them and developers to want to recreate them. Whether any of the current maps will go down as “classics” in Call of Duty remains to be seen, but supplementing them with maps people know and love is a safe way of ensuring the player base is happy and can feel comfortable in the game. Crash, Vacant and Shipment were made available alongside the season one content drop on December 3, 2019, alongside a bunch of other Gunfight and Ground War maps to match. Gameplay has already been made available of the new Crash, which features a whole new area and open/closable doors. You might want to take a look at the new design coming to Modern Warfare before you jump into the game.

Nadeshot urges Infinity Ward to fix Warzone hacking before it’s too late – Dexerto
Nadeshot urges Infinity Ward to fix Warzone hacking before it’s too late YouTube: 100 Thieves / Infinity WardMatthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has begged Infinity Ward to do something about the overload of hacking in Warzone, and warned if they don’t implement “some kind of anti-cheat software” soon, the battle royale would “die out.” The 100 Thieves star’s warning came after he and teammates Courage, and TimtheTatman found themselves on the wrong side of a squad “blatantly hacking.” It’s an issue that also plagued the second $20k Warzone Wednesday event. The star-studded trio dropped into one of Warzone’s more popular drop-zones, Airport. They were wiped out moments later. With pinpoint headshots and wall-bangs leaving them no chance, they had clearly fallen victim to hackers. After sitting in stunned silence for nearly a minute, Nadeshot launched into an impassioned tirade aimed at Infinity Ward. In particular, he said he “couldn’t believe” the triple-A devs had skipped adding anti-cheat measures to Warzone. “I just can’t believe that you create a free battle royale game, and don’t come to the market, when you release the game, with an anti-cheat software. Their solution is having a security team manually review hackers’ accounts,” Nadeshot said. The 100T founder was referencing Infinity Ward’s March 31 blog on the topic, which revealed how they were combating hackers. Apparently, the devs have security teams watching 24/7, and then manually banning hacking offenders. Nadeshot wasn’t impressed, at all. There are already more than 30 million players registered to the game, he said, which means they need to do more. It’s a “great achievement,” but they’re going to let it slip away if they do nothing. Read more: Scump reveals his favorite Warzone drop zone – “They know that this is one of the biggest game franchises in the entire world, and they said, f**k it. Those five guys over there in that corner of this office on the third floor, they’re gonna be in charge of fending off hackers worldwide,” he continued. “It’s Call of Duty… [they’re] a triple-A publisher. You know what? We don’t need software that can stop players from logging on with hacking abilities, with aimbots, with wall radar… It’s going to ruin the entire experience.” Nadeshot added one final barb for the MW devs too: he invoked Riot’s much-praised decision to build upcoming FPS release Valorant with anti-cheat designs from the beginning. Infinity Ward could learn a lot from them, he said. “I love this game, and I don’t want it to die out because of people hacking,” he said, and pointed to the League devs’ first steps into the genre as a highwater mark the Call of Duty franchise should learn from in regards to hacking. “Riot has literally developed their game from the ground up with anti-cheats,” the 100T star explained. “They understand the amount of integrity involved in games where people want to be competitive in the game.” This isn’t the first time the former OpTic superstar has sounded off on how Infinity Ward are managing Call of Duty’s new battle royale either. On March 25, Nadeshot took a swipe at the decision to put skill-based matching in Warzone. For now, the devs haven’t responded, and likely won’t. Season 3 is now on the horizon for the title, along with plenty of changes. Keep your fingers crossed Infinity Ward will roll out some kind of anti-cheat measure during the new season.

Nadeshot and SlasheR disagree about the use of sniper rifles in Call of Duty esports – Dexerto
Nadeshot and SlasheR disagree about the use of sniper rifles in Call of Duty esports 100 Thieves player Austin ‘SlasheR’ Liddicoat and CEO Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag have differing opinions on the use of sniper rifles in Call of Duty esports. In a tweet sent out by 100 Thieves’ newest acquisition, SlasheR asked his fans if Call of Duty would be better off removing snipers from competitive Search and Destroy. He said: “Am I the only one who thinks competitive SnD would be 100x better without snipers? Or if they aimed in slower?” Nadeshot replied, saying that while he understood SlasheR’s idea was meant to improve the competitiveness of the game, he felt that it would lessen the entertainment value of the esport. “You can’t forget that entertainment is absolutely necessary and there’s nothing better than seeing huge snipes in S&D,” he argued. “From a viewer perspective, you are right,” responded the assault rifler. “I just dislike the fact that you are not risking anything pulling out a sniper class. For example, in CounterStrike you are risking $5k of your economy to use it.” I know from a viewer perspective you are right. I just dislike the fact that you are not risking anything pulling out a sniper class. For example in cs you are risking 5k of your Economy to use it. Cod it’s free every round — 100T SlasheR (@SlasheR_AL) October 3, 2018 SlasheR feels the benefits of pulling out a sniper rifle in Search and Destroy heavily outweigh the potential negatives. With sniper rifles generally killing enemies in one shot, Liddicoat believes that there needs to be a heavier penalty for bringing it out and not being successful with it. With Call of Duty switching to 5v5, it’s currently unclear how teams will set up during competitive gameplay. It will be interesting to see how many snipers we see on the map when action begins in the first Call of Duty event of the year in Las Vegas on December 7.

Nadeshot and Scump stunned by Tfue’s “insane” Warzone sniper streak – Dexerto
Nadeshot and Scump stunned by Tfue’s “insane” Warzone sniper streak Activision/YouTube: Nadeshot/FaZe ClanMatthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag and Seth ‘Scump’ Abner were left almost speechless as streamer Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney started hitting in “insane” sniper streak in Call of Duty battle royale Warzone. [jwplayer uc1VZt4E] Scump and Nade are veterans in the Call of Duty scene, and they’ve seen just about everything you could see in a CoD game after years of playing with the best of the best. For that reason, it must be hard to truly impress them, and it makes it even more special when someone does. While Tfue isn’t famed for his Warzone prowess, having risen to the top of Twitch thanks to his incredible Fortnite gameplay, the skills are clearly transferable, as he found himself not missing a single headshot while traversing Verdansk. Since Season 6 launched, the new SP-R208 sniper has become a favorite for players thanks to its fast ADS and precision, and Tfue made it look like the easiest gun in the world to use as he hit headshot after headshot. The trio were running through Boneyard, with Tfue alone already at 14 kills for himself before hitting this incredible streak, and you’re not likely to see a more perfect display of in-game accuracy than this. Sneaking up behind his enemies, Tfue hit three successive headshots to down the players, and followed them all up with headshots while they were downed, too. Not content with just that, he found two more players on the outskirts of Boneyard, including one just flying in, and hit them square in the face too, with just one bullet going stray the entire time. Throughout, Nadeshot couldn’t believe what he was seeing, calling the former Fortnite pro “elite” while Scump simply told him that he’s “cracked.” Finally, Nade joked that Tenney was “creating a montage” and, to his credit, it would be one of the best montage clips on any video it appeared in if it were to.

Nadeshot and Scump playfully roast Censor during the Ghosts throwback tournament – Dexerto
Nadeshot and Scump playfully roast Censor during the Ghosts throwback tournament Doug ‘Censor’ Martin was the victim of some old school OpTic Gaming banter during the recent Call of Duty: Ghosts throwback tournament. Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, the owner of 100 Thieves and a former OpTic CoD star, was competing in the throwback event alongside his old teammate – and the current captain of OpTic’s Call of Duty division – Seth ‘Scump’ Abner. Rolling back the years to the Ghosts season also seemed to prompt some classic Nadeshot and Scump moments of entertainment from the same period of time, and none of their competitive CoD colleagues were safe! In a clip that begins with Scump mocking his current OpTic teammate Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter by saying “Yo, Crimsix’s head is fucking massive, I don’t know how he operates,” attentions soon turned to Censor instead! “You got a girl? Don’t let her see me,” Scump joked after saying that he now wears his contact lenses more often than his glasses. “Nah, I’m joking, if you’ve got a girl, don’t let her see Doug. That’s my rule!” Nadeshot wasn’t about to let Censor get away with being complimented so heavily, though. “Yeah, but then he starts talking and everything’s okay again,” said the 100 Thieves man, prompting hysterics from Scump, Jordan ‘ProoFy’ Cannon and Thomas ‘TJHaLy’ Haly: Censor returned to the Call of Duty scene for the start of the WWII season and made a number of bold claims about winning champs and beating all of the top teams. For much of the year the popular YouTuber was ridiculed for his confidence, and he never did manage to win an event, but he did exceed most people’s expectations – most notably at CWL Birmingham where he finished in the top eight alongside Lightning Pandas. The Gymshark sponsored fitness enthusiast has competed against Nadeshot and Scump for a number of years and will be well aware of their playful personalities. “Man is he good looking!” Nadeshot finally admitted after the giggles died down.

Nadeshot and Scump among CoD personalities demanding League Play in Black Ops 4 – Dexerto
Nadeshot and Scump among CoD personalities demanding League Play in Black Ops 4 As the wait for an announcement regarding League Play in Black Ops 4 continues, some of the biggest names in Call of Duty are becoming (understandably) impatient. League Play, originally planned to launch in BO4 in December, was delayed until ‘early 2019’ – and it’s been radio silence from developers Treyarch since. Players are desperate for any news regarding when they can expect League Play, a feature originally teased months before the game’s release, and that has been in the past two Black Ops titles at launch. Even some of the big names in CoD esports are now publicly demanding Treyarch make a fresh announcement at the very least, as the community runs out of patience. Former professional player and owner of 100 Thieves, Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag was one of the big names to make a point of League Play still not being available. Will Treyarch release League Play on Black Ops 4? pic.twitter.com/XnfBaRanOI — 100T Nadeshot (@Nadeshot) January 4, 2019 OpTic Gaming player, and former teammate of Nadeshot, Seth ‘Scump’ Abner is another big name who has directly asked Treyarch for the competitive playlist – on three separate occasions. Still waiting on League Play @Treyarch pic.twitter.com/1JziHAuneX — Seth Abner (@OpTic_Scumper) December 19, 2018 eUnited’s Alec ‘Arcitys’ Sanderson was another current competitive player running out of patience. Team Envy captain Patrick ‘ACHES’ Price highlighted how long the wait has been since Black Ops 4’s release, as League Play is still nowhere to be seen. 3 months of BO4 being out. 0 months of league being play out. Hate to see it. — Patrick Price (@ACHES) January 3, 2019 OpTic Gaming’s Brandon ‘Dashy’ Otell kept is short and sweet with his League Play tweet. Former professional and popular YouTuber Doug ‘Censor’ Martin was more polite in his approach, but the message was clear. Treyarch is still keeping everything under wraps, but perhaps the competitive community can look forward to an announcement during the CWL Pro League qualifier. The CWL Pro League proper starts in February, so it’s also possible that Treyarch are planning to launch League Play alongside the start of the professional league. For now however, even these big names calling on Treyarch for some new information appears to be falling on deaf ears.

Nadeshot and NAMELESS Think Pro CoD Players Need to Stop Being Friends – Dexerto
Nadeshot and NAMELESS Think Pro CoD Players Need to Stop Being Friends 100 Thieves CEO and founder Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag believes that too much friendship currently exists within the professional ranks of Call of Duty esports. As a former pro player, he thinks that too many CoD pros are close friends nowadays, which is diluting the competitiveness within the esport. Nadeshot was live-streaming on August 1 with former pro player turned CWL analyst Anthony ‘NAMELESS’ Wheeler when he he brought up the topic of friendship in CoD. “All the Call of Duty pros need to stop being friends too, too many friends. It’s like the NBA right now. Everybody’s tight, everybody’s homies, there’s no like grudge matches dude.” NAMELESS then mentioned Rise Nation’s Danny ‘Loony’ Loza as an example of how pro players need to be if the competitive nature of the esport is to become heightened. “That’s why the coolest shit is like playing ‘Loony’ because they have like a rivalry, there needs to be way more of that.” Loony has been known to be involved in rivalries with some other pro players, specifically eUnited’s James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks. The pair have jawed at each other on the main stage and social media on more than one occasion this CWL season. Read More: Karma and Parasite Voice Concerns Regarding ‘Bullet Drop’ Being Added to the CoD: Black Ops 4 Beta – Continuing the conversation, Nadeshot presented a couple of hypothetical ways that the pro scene can get fired up once again, mainly involving longtime veterans Patrick ‘ACHES’ Price and Adam ‘KiLLa’ Sloss. “Somebody needs to rush the stage and throw a left hook on ACHES and bring that dude’s fire back. He needs to start roasting everybody again. We need KiLLa to be a top player.” “Well, we are fucked if that’s what we need. Sloss is my boy, I talk to him like every other day. But no way Sloss is going to be on a top team again, no way.”

Nadeshot and CoD pros react to 100 Thieves’ shocking loss in CWL Pro League – Dexerto
Nadeshot and CoD pros react to 100 Thieves’ shocking loss in CWL Pro League 100 ThievesThere were four matches in the Call of Duty World League’s Pro League on February 21, but the entire CoD community seems to be talking about 100 Thieves’ stunning loss to eUnited. With eUnited currently being one of the top teams in the CWL, it’s not the fact that 100 Thieves lost to them that’s caught people’s attention, but rather it was the nature of how they lost that has left many speechless. The match started very much one way as eUnited jumped out to a 2-0 lead after winning the first two maps. 100 Thieves showed their resiliency by winning the next two maps to tie the score at 2-2 and force a decisive game five. With momentum very much on their side, 100T got up to a quick 3-1 lead in the Frequency S&D, but that was when things quickly began to unravel as eUnited racked up round after round to eventually claim a 5-4 lead. The match was destined to go to a round 11 as 100T had a 4v2 advantage in the 10th round with the bomb down, but eUnited somehow managed to eliminate all four players and get the defuse with just 0.1 seconds left on the timer. Down in a 2v4 situation, @eUnitedgg break on through to take the final S&D and win it over @100Thieves! pic.twitter.com/Pxlcss7nzW — Call of Duty World League (@CODWorldLeague) February 22, 2019 That sequence of events, couple with the fact that 100 Thieves were largely unsuccessful when using many of their scorestreaks during the final map, left everyone watching stunned and in disbelief. CEO and founder Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, a former Call of Duty star himself, tweeted out a simple message but quickly deleted it just moments later. Tough loss. GGs eU. Finished 1-2 this week. We go again next week. — 100T Priestahh (@Priestahh) February 22, 2019 While there were a lot of quality tweets put out in the aftermath of what happened, maybe the best one came from OpTic Gaming’s Dashy, who sent a tweet at 100 Thieves’ substitute player Fero. Of course Fero was a member of 100T’s starting squad during the qualifying tournament of the Pro League, but was controversially dropped in favor of Priestahh, and many disagreed with the decision at the time. Nadeshot & 100 Thieves announce LA Thieves Warzone team coming soon – Dexerto
Nadeshot & 100 Thieves announce LA Thieves Warzone team coming soon LA Thieves / Infinity WardAlongside the announcement of the Los Angeles Thieves induction into the Call of Duty League, Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has confirmed that 100T will also be building out a Warzone team that he expects to be one of the best ever seen. [jwplayer br5AuoVJ] Warzone debuted in March 2020 and has continued to scale beyond the wildest expectations as a premier battle royale with burgeoning competitive and content scenes. On the competitive side, Jordan ‘HusKerrs’ Thomas has already hit over $100,000 in earnings from Warzone tournaments. On the content side, HusKerrs is joined by a bevy of streamers who are all raking in millions of views, along with thousands of subscribers, simply by dropping in and dominating Verdansk. It should therefore be no surprise than an organization like 100 Thieves, whose roots grew from professional Call of Duty and an unfaltering focus on content creation, is set to become the first esports brand to create a team dedicated to Warzone. This comes alongside announcements of the LA Thieves CDL team and an upcoming CoD Mobile roster. In an announcement video with Nadeshot and John Robinson, the 100T’s President and COO, the former was asked about the prospects of a Warzone team following discussion of the LA Thieves’ sleek branding. While Nadeshot coyly responds “yes,” to the creation of an 100T Verdansk unit, he makes no roster confirmations or teases other than the fact he will, in fact, not be playing on the competitive squad. This may be disappointing for fans who were hoping for a quasi-return from his 2015 retirement, but the founder and former OpTic Gaming player did explain why he won’t be playing. “There are some truly special players that have created communities that are so large and welcoming and just massively engaged as they compete every single day and live Warzone. And so we want to build one of the greatest Warzone teams that you’ll ever witness in the history of, not only Call of Duty, but battle royale in general.” As the first esports organization to lock in and confirm they’ll be fielding a Warzone-specific roster, 100T now stands at the forefront of the game’s scene as it trends toward even bigger events. Read more: Nadeshot explains 100 Thieves exit from CSGO – It remains unclear who will be on the roster, but there are some incredible options out there and Nadeshot’s passion makes it clear that he will be looking to field the most dominant roster possible. And he minced no words when expressing how happy he is for 100T to be back in CoD: “Call of Duty…it’s my home.”

Nadeshot nearly passes out while celebrating 100 Thieves’ win at CWL London – Dexerto
Nadeshot nearly passes out while celebrating 100 Thieves’ win at CWL London CouRage – TwitterThe reactions to 100 Thieves being crowned champions at CWL London have poured in, and none is better than that of CEO and Founder Matt ‘Nadeshot‘ Haag, who nearly passed out while celebrating. Coming into CWL London as one of the favorites to win the tournament, it came as no surprise that the team found its way in the Winners Bracket Final on Championship Sunday. They passed their biggest test of the event by beating OpTic Gaming to advance to the Grand Final, where they handled eUnited to secure their first ever tournament victory in Call of Duty esports. In fact, their win at CWL London was actually their first ever major tournament victory as an organization across any of the esports they’ve been involved in thus far. Nadeshot nearly passes out while celebrating Needless to say, there was probably no one more excited at 100 Thieves’ victory than Nadeshot, who was watching the events unfold from their team house in Los Angeles. Thanks to a video captured by Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop, Nade can be seen ferociously celebrating the moment they had secured the win, to the point where he nearly went “night night.” My guy @CouRageJD captured the moment we won. I was 99% sure I was going night night. @100Thieves :joyful::sob: pic.twitter.com/mYmBxBXN7z — 100T Nadeshot (@Nadeshot) May 5, 2019 According to a followup tweet posted by CouRage, Nadeshot had this to say in the midst of his celebration: “I can’t feel my hands, I’m going to pass out. Let’s go we won. I’m going to pass out. My hands are tingling.” Once he did compose himself, Nade managed to tweeted out how much his team’s title-winning performance meant to him. I really can’t explain how much this championship means to me personally & even more so for everyone that works day and night to make @100Thieves a reality. So damn happy & proud. Now it’s time to go see a therapist so I can get over my fear of flying so I go to every event :joyful: — 100T Nadeshot (@Nadeshot) May 5, 2019 Why wasn’t Nadeshot at the event? Considering that CWL London is one of the few major tournaments of the season, many competitive CoD fans were confused as to why Nadeshot didn’t attend the event to support his team live. In a response to someone on Twitter, he revealed that it was all due to his “overwhelming anxiety while flying long distances.” “I have overwhelming anxiety while flying long distances that has progressively gotten worse as I’ve gotten older,” he wrote. “If you knew what it felt like for me, you’d understand.” I have overwhelming anxiety while flying long distances that has progressively gotten worse as I’ve gotten older. However, it was still heartwarming to see the players and coach Crowder excitedly tweet out after winning, with the adrenaline still very much coursing through their veins. RUN IT TF UP. With there still being several major events before the season ends, such as CWL Anaheim, CWL Finals, and the 2019 CWL Championship, there is still yet time for 100T to make their first year in CoD esports one of the most dominant ones ever.

Nadeshot accidentally roasts his own Black Ops 4 gameplay: “”Who the F*CK is this guy?”” – Dexerto
Nadeshot accidentally roasts his own Black Ops 4 gameplay: “”Who the F*CK is this guy?”” Matt ‘Call of Duty players of all time, but a moment from his April 29 stream had his viewers in stitches, as he criticized a Black Ops 4 teammate’s gameplay – only to realize it was him playing. Nadeshot became an icon in the Call of Duty community during his time as a professional player, representing OpTic Gaming throughout his career until his retirement following the Advanced Warfare Call of Duty Championship in 2015. Since then, the American has gone on to create his own esports organization Apex Legends or Call of Duty. Nadeshot gets confused on Black Ops 4 For Nadeshot, his days as a competitive player are firmly in the rear view mirror, but the 100 Thieves CEO decided to hop on Black Ops 4’s League Play ranked playlist to test his skills on the latest addition to the Call of Duty lineup. During a match of Control on Frequency, Nadeshot and his team found themselves in a tough spot, locked in a battle with the opposing team with few respawns available to either team. As Nadeshot pushed through B hill towards pipes, he was taken down by an enemy player, causing Nadeshot to believe his team had run out of lives. Hilariously, this wasn’t the case, and the former OpTic star stared blankly at the screen waiting for the player – who was actually him – to move, instead firing a Sensor Dart at a wall for seemingly no reason. “You guys got this shit,” Nadeshot told his teammates while he stood still in his spawn. “Sensor Dart, wow, who the fuck is this guy? Wait, hold on now… Oh! This is me! What the fuck!” Nadeshot took his hilarious error in good spirits, laughing along with the rest of his chat, joking: “I’m a fucking idiot! That might have been the dumbest shit I have ever done!” Thankfully for 100 Thieves fans, Nadeshot will not be competing at the next major Call of Duty tournament CWL London, which kicks off on Friday, May 3 at the Copper Box Arena in London, England.

Nadeshot accidentally leaks LG’s new fifth while roasting them for “mishandling” JKap situation – Dexerto
Nadeshot accidentally leaks LG’s new fifth while roasting them for “mishandling” JKap situation 100 Thieves CEO Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has accidentally revealed who Luminosity Gaming are aiming to pick up as their fifth for the upcoming Black Ops 4 season. News broke out on October 11 that Jordan ‘JKap’ Kaplan had been dropped by LG to join eUnited, meaning that LG would still need one more player to complete their five-man roster, despite having already acquired Gunless the day before. According to Nadeshot, he will be replaced by former EnVy player Nicholas ‘Classic’ DiCostanzo, which falls in line with recent rumors and speculation. “JKap’s just a great teammate, and he’s really experienced. I think that was a mistake. I think JKap’s better than Classic,” he said live on stream. “I was really surprised by that decision.” It’s clear that Nadeshot did not know that the acquisition of Classic had not yet been officially confirmed, as his chat was frantically spamming about the leak. Nadeshot did not stop there, as he went on to roast LG for apparently mishandling their roster situation concerning JKap, as well as not replying to inquiries 100 Thieves had made about the player. “They did JKap dirty. LG, they did not handle that properly. We were interested in JKap, and for two months, JKap was trying to get answers from LG,” he revealed. “I tried contacting LG a couple of times as well. They pretty much ignored JKap and myself, and I just don’t think they handled that properly.” In the grand scheme of things, Nadeshot’s leak isn’t too groundbreaking, considering that most of the community already had a hunch that Classic was moving to LG. However, his hot take on LG’s handling of their CoD roster is definitely something worth noting. Nadeshot accidentally leaks Chicago CoD’s name in stream slip-up – Dexerto
Nadeshot accidentally leaks Chicago CoD’s name in stream slip-up Founder of 100 Thieves and ex-professional player Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag accidentally leaked the name of Chicago’s CoD franchise in a hilarious faux pas, as he played Modern Warfare with FormaL and Scump. With Modern Warfare now out for everybody to experience, fans are eagerly anticipating the new franchised league more than ever. However, there are still plenty of announcements to come first. There have been countless leaks and rumors regarding rosters and team names, with numerous signings and announcements being made public everyday. One announcement yet to be made is the name and branding that the Chicago CoD franchise will operate under. Rumors thus far have suggested it will be ‘Chicago Huntsmen’, who will feature a similar logo to that of the Houston Outlaws Overwatch team. The Chicago CoD franchise has confirmed a star-studded roster of Arcitys, Envoy, Gunless, Scump and FormaL. Nadeshot was playing with Scump and FormaL on October 25, when he made the hilarious slip-up. According to viewers of Nade’s stream, he had been in the lobby for barely 30 seconds when he said: “Are we bringing the team back? I feel like I could be a sub (SMG) for the Huntsmen.” There was an awkward silence immediately after Nade’s mistake, as Scump and FormaL seemingly couldn’t believe what their ex-teammate had just said. “The what?” Scump finally replied, before dissolving into fits of laughter. “Oh my god I’m texting Hector.” Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez is the ex-CEO of OpTic Gaming, and the current head of NRG’s Chicago CoD franchise. In other words, he will have been heavily involved in the acquisition of Chicago’s operating name, as well as its logo. H3CZ is known to be good friends with all three of the men involved in the clip, at one point or another being their ‘boss’ as they competed as professional players. For his part in the hilarious moment, Nade just shook his head and laughed gingerly, as if he couldn’t fathom the slip up he had just made. Given the announcement of Chicago’s roster came just a few days ago, we can expect to see official confirmation made anytime soon.

Nadeshot melts down over frequent Warzone 2 crashes: “Dumb f***ing game” – Dexerto
Nadeshot melts down over frequent Warzone 2 crashes: “Dumb f***ing game” Twitch: Nadeshot100 Thieves founder and CoD veteran Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag went on a rant for the ages after one too many Warzone 2 crashes during his latest Twitch stream. Taking issue with Activision’s historic revenu, he called on the developers to “fix [their] f***ing sh**.” We’ve all been there with Warzone crashes over the years and unfortunately, not much has changed on that end in the sequel. Warzone 2 is still plagued by dev errors and game-crashing bugs aplenty, leading many to vent their frustrations while live on stream. Nadeshot just so happens to be the latest victim. After roughly nine hours of dedicating himself to getting a nuke in Warzone 2, a challenging task for even the most accomplished squads, his game crashed for the umpteenth time. In this instance, however, it was just one too many restarts for the CoD icon to stomach. “This dumba** f***ing game bro,” he said after a few moments of silence, letting the rage boil over. You sit here for f***ing nine hours trying to do this sh**. We get to the fifth f***ing game and my sh** crashes,” Nade continued, now yelling in anger. Pointing to the fact he games on a “state of the art PC,” Nadeshot explained how not even a “five grand” rig can escape the issues impacting Warzone 2. His RTX 3090 and “maxed out” i9 CPU weren’t enough to stop the game from encountering another “f***ing crash. “Jesus Christ. I just spent my whole day trying to get this thing. I know I sound like a whiny little bitch about a video game, but Jesus Christ. Fix your f***ing sh**. “You just made a billion dollars, and you’ve done it every year,” he screamed. “Every f***ing year you have made $1+ billion from this game, and I can’t even f***ing play it. Holy sh**.” Bringing up the facts, Nade was quick to address the success of this year’s CoD launch. In generating over $800 million in revenue in just three days, Modern Warfare 2 soon cleared the billion-dollar mark as it went on to make history as the “highest-grossing entertainment opening of 2022.” Though even with its unprecedented success, CoD’s Battle Royale component continues to be bogged down by such issues. Perhaps it’s only a matter of time until dev errors are a thing of the past, but a fix for the most problematic crashes can’t come soon enough for Nadeshot. Though even with his visible frustration, Nade soon issued a more reasoned follow-up on Twitter, claiming he “lost [his] cool” during the clip above. “Watching this back out of the context of the moment is embarrassing for me. Warzone 2 is a lot of fun, I really do love the game and this makes me sound ungrateful. If you watched this clip independently, you’ll have missed the hours and hours where I praised the game. “It’s not perfect, there’s a lot of bugs, but it’s a great addition to the franchise. I don’t want any Infinity Ward employees to feel as if their hard work has gone unnoticed.”

Nadeshot: 100 Thieves update on CDL ‘LA Thieves’ team isn’t encouraging – Dexerto
Nadeshot: 100 Thieves update on CDL ‘LA Thieves’ team isn’t encouraging Instagram, @nadeshot[jwplayer br5AuoVJ] In light of the OpTic Gaming acquisition and speculation over 100 Thieves’ possible Call of Duty League team, Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has stymied hopes and updated fans on the “LA Thieves” progress. Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez has made 2020 a little bit more palatable for Call of Duty fans by reportedly re-acquiring the OpTic Gaming IP and all of its underlying assets and resources. That puts him in and the CDL in an interesting position, as one owner cannot have a stake in two different teams, meaning that ownership of either the Chicago Huntsmen or OpTic Gaming Los Angeles will need to shift before the 2021 season. As H3CZ is likely to maintain his Chicago squad, who placed third in the inaugural CDL Champs, the Los Angeles team spot formerly occupied by OGLA is presumably open for grabs — an exciting opportunity for interested organizations given the absence of league expansion this offseason. One such organization is Nadeshot’s 100 Thieves, who have long been the subject of discussion as fans hope for Nadeshot to return to CoD, particularly in LA. Unfortunately, while the 100T founder likes the “LA Thieves” name and would want to rejoin the professional scene where his career started, he wants to dispel hopes that it will be happening anytime soon. Nadeshot on LA Thieves CDL team: “”We’re not really in a position to get back into Call of Duty … Maybe down the road.””#100T pic.twitter.com/yZVsycymYS — théo (@TheoSalaun) October 1, 2020 “LA Thieves has a nice ring to it. But, guys, we’re not really in a position to get back into Call of Duty. It’s really, really expensive, so we’ll see. Maybe down the road, in the future, I don’t know, but I don’t want you guys to get your hopes up.” As he explains, buying a CDL spot is an incredibly hefty investment and he doesn’t believe that 100T is able to take that on just yet. While he does appreciate the LA Thieves branding possibilities and cites the potential for them to join the CDL “in the future,” he is reluctant to promise anything to fans in the short term. Despite Nade curtailing hype, people remain convinced that his organization should be involved. With fans and professionals, like the Seattle Surge’s Daniel ‘Loony’ Loza, chiming in, it appears obvious that the LA Thieves dream won’t die, no matter how much it gets downplayed. Considering his close relationship with H3CZ, the CoD community likely hopes that 100T can receive somewhat of a discount for the acquisition. In the meantime, perhaps the general hype surrounding the LA Thieves will be enough to persuade investors to help foot the bill.

Nade Thinks Scump Should Retire and Start Making Content Again “I’d give him a bag [of money] to join 100 Thieves” – Dexerto
Nade Thinks Scump Should Retire and Start Making Content Again “I’d give him a bag [of money] to join 100 Thieves” The competitive Call of Duty community was treated to an evening of wisdom by former champion Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag on Wednesday, August 1. The former OpTic Gaming captain retired in April 2015 after a poor performance at CoD Champs 2015 on Advanced Warfare, but has maintained relationships within the scene and has appeared at a number of events in a spectator capacity. The 100 Thieves owner and popular content creator returned to play Call of Duty WWII on a special stream with former CoD pro Anthony ‘NAMELESS’ Wheeler, and got into a discussion about a former teammate, Seth ‘Scump’ Abner. On the back of a poor performance on OpTic Gaming at the CWL Pro League Stage Two playoffs, the question about whether the Call of Duty legend should retire has been floated on a number of occasions. Scump himself has even discussed the topic at CWL Anaheim, telling Dexerto that he thinks about retiring every day. Could a poor performance at CoD Champs 2018 be the end of the road? Former teammate Nadeshot has expressed his thoughts on the situation during that stream with NAMELESS. “To be honest with you, if I was Scump, I’d retire. Scump. I would almost make the argument, which I know people are going to tell me that I’m dead wrong, but, people don’t really understand the numbers of it all. I bet there are more people that recognize Scump because of his public match gameplay on YouTube than they do as him as a competitive player.” “Scump is so good at pubs, all of his videos bang dude. Scump, all he’s got to do is sit there for like an hour, get a banging ass gameplay playing TDM or pub stomping in Dom, and 300,000 people are watching it. Scump could stress so much less and sign with an organization that would pay him to be a streamer or YouTuber, and he could play SnD tournaments and do whatever he wants and he doesn’t have to worry about anybody talking shit, saying nothing.” Nadeshot continued on that train of thought and suggested that he would pay big money in order to acquire Scump’s services as a content creator. “Scump could get a bag dude, I’d give Scump a bag to join 100 Thieves. Kick-off that road to 100-0. I’m just saying, Scump could do so much more and he wouldn’t have to worry about. I mean he’s done everything dude. Won champs, X-Games, MLG’s.”

Mystery Call of Duty Wonder Weapon Replica sells out in minutes – Dexerto
Mystery Call of Duty Wonder Weapon Replica sells out in minutes Call of DutyCall of Duty teased its first-ever collectible item, and the mystery weapon replica sold out in just under a few minutes. Call of Duty has a storied history of delivering unique pre-order collectible items. The Black Ops Prestige edition gave fans an actual RCXD remote-control car. Black Ops 2 upped the ante, awarding a drone inspired by the MQ-27 Dragonfire. The Black Ops 3 Juggernog Editon infamously featured a 7-inch mini-fridge from Call of Duty Zombies, and Modern Warfare 2019 Dark Edition gifted players replica night vision goggles. Unfortunately, CoD Vanguard and Modern Warfare 2 discontinued the annual tradition of including replica items as pre-order benefits. Activision made amends by announcing a new mystery replica weapon coming to the Call of Duty store, but it doesn’t take a detective to crack this case. Call of Duty announces Ray Gun replica item On February 28, the official Call of Duty Twitter account announced a Wonder Weapon Replica in March. The item was available for purchase in the CoD Store, but it sold out in under five minutes. The two hints provided lean toward the mystery weapon being a Ray Gun. The iconic CoD Zombies weapon has appeared in all seven titles and is always memorable to run around with. CoD fans rejoiced over the announcement. One fan responded, “I can already tell this is going to be an instant buy.” A second user added, “instantly buying this the moment it goes live.” Unfortunately for fans eager to get their hands on the replica weapon, it is currently listed as sold out in the store. “dear lord, please have a good number of these, so they don’t sell out immediately.” Some fans speculated that the item is not sold out and the image is only used as a placeholder until the replica goes live. We will provide an update when we learn more.

Mysterious Modern Warfare bug kills players behind walls with explosives – Dexerto
Mysterious Modern Warfare bug kills players behind walls with explosives A new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare bug has been discovered that can kill players behind seemingly solid walls with explosives after one player shared their unfortunate death on Shoot House. The new Shoot House map has been in Call of Duty for almost two months, and has been widely praised by the community as one of the best maps in Modern Warfare. While it came with a 24/7 playlist on release, it was removed in the Season 1 update to the disappointment of players. With Shoot House back on the menu in the 24/7 ‘Shoot the Ship’ mode, everyone’s been jumping into the fast-paced maps over the Christmas break. However, a new bug has sprung up on the fan-favorite map, with some of the walls not as secure as they appear to be. ‘ProP777’ shared their mysterious death on the Modern Warfare subreddit on December 25. They were in the midst of a gunfight down the middle of the map, before an explosion out of nowhere managed to take down the player. On the kill cam, the enemy fired at one of the office walls on Shoot House with an RPG, with the splash damage seemingly blowing through the wall to the Junkyard area outside. ProP777 was unfortunately caught on the edge of its range and was taken down, although he had no way of seeing what was approaching. The cause of the bug could be a number of things. One unlikely possibility is that the player was hacking and their RPG could be shot through walls, but it’s more likely the tin wall texture has a hole in it, allowing for explosive damage to come out the other side. This is not the only exploit players have discovered in the new playlist. On Shipment, players have found a way to get outside of the combat zone and not take damage, allowing them to rack up kills with ease. Read more: Modern Warfare December 24 patch notes – There’s also been complaints about the spawns on both maps. While they are both small three-lane maps, some players have found it remarkably easy to just sit in the middle of the map and decimate enemies with poor spawns. However, this mysterious bug is the most likely to transcend maps, as there are a lot of walls that could have quirky hitboxes. If you are jumping into Modern Warfare for the first time, or getting around Shoot House in the new playlist, be careful of this bug in case it happens to you.

Mysterious ‘CoD Burner’ has returned and dropped a ton of new leaks and information – Dexerto
Mysterious ‘CoD Burner’ has returned and dropped a ton of new leaks and information Call of Duty esports’ very own ‘CoD Burner’ account has made a comeback online, posting a heap of information on Reddit, claiming to have insider knowledge of rostermania and more. The account, ‘codburner2018mania’, started posting information on Reddit during the Call of Duty: WWII season, and returned ahead of the Black Ops 4 season too, followed by a period of silence. On January 5, the account made a comeback, summarizing details from the past year or more of behind the scenes happenings, including potential rosters that never came to fruition. The main focus is on a so-called ‘Rich Guy’. This elusive character has cropped up many times in the CoD Burner’s posts, and is apparently a mysterious investor who is acquainted with many of the top professional players. Boasting large salary offerings and even the potential for ownership in the organization, CoD Burner claims many players, including Scump, Clayster, Karma, John, Apathy, Gunless, Crimsix, Attach, FeLo and ZooMaa, were approached to join a new team under ‘Rich Guy’s’ direction. However, due to numerous and complex decisions, nothing ever came of the potential new organization, resulting in the current shape of competitive CoD, with Nadeshot’s 100 Thieves the only new major team entering the space for the Black Ops 4 season. A summary of ‘Rich Guy’ from CoD Burner: Another, perhaps more controversial claim, is that OpTic Gaming were set to drop the CoD team during the WWII season, ahead of CWL Atlanta. CoD Burner states: “Supposedly right before they were going to meet [Rich Guy], Infinite decided to drop the halo team and very nearly dropped the cod team the day before the event too.” There is very little in terms of actual proof to verify any of CoD Burner’s claims, other than circumstantial evidence, such as James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks eating at a Frisco steakhouse around the time CoD Burner claims ‘Rich Guy’ arranged to have Clayster fly to Frisco. However, professional players have hinted in the past that CoD Burner has posted correct information, that only someone with close relations to players would know, giving some weight to their claims. Mysterious CoD 2020 ‘Red Door’ listing appears with CIA codename – Dexerto
Mysterious CoD 2020 ‘Red Door’ listing appears with CIA codename Activision[jwplayer QvLAnrCP]The next Call of Duty release has been shrouded in mystery, but an intriguing new listing on the Xbox Live store may have confirmed an Alpha test codename — and one savvy player even managed to download the game, too. Treyarch has now made it further into a year than any Call of Duty developer without revealing their latest title. The developers have been extremely tight-lipped without so much as a single teaser trailer being shared online. Despite the secrecy, information has begun to slip through the cracks as various datamines and leaks previously revealed the game’s codename. ‘The Red Door’ is the label that appeared for an internal Alpha test on June 10. That codename has now appeared again as a July 15 public listing was spotted on the Xbox Live store. While it’s purely a codename for now, the store page came fit with key art, a full description, and even allowed users to redeem a code for early access. “There is more than one truth,” the description reads. “If you go looking for answers, be ready to question everything and accept that nothing will ever be the same. The Red Door awaits, do you dare step through it?” The listing is from Activision Publishing Inc. and classified as a ‘Shooter’. While fans can’t access it yet, the listing does allow for a code to be redeemed directly on the page. Rather than testing internally, it seems an early version has been deployed across Xbox Live and even the PlayStation network — a PS4 listing for The Red Door has also been spotted on Serial Station. This could simply be a means of testing for Treyarch developers around the world. However, it could well be laying the groundwork for an eventual public test. Only time will tell as the 2020 release is officially revealed in the coming months. The Xbox listing boasts a file size of 81.65GB. This is no small download and even clocks in 10GB larger than the original leak. Artwork is identical to previous versions as well, with a keyhole revealing a maze-like pattern. Another new name potentially leaked? Once the Xbox Store listing was accidentally published, many believed that ‘The Red Door’ could be the official name of the upcoming Call of Duty title, but one player was able to take advantage of the opportunity and download the game to his Xbox — revealing a brand new name altogether. As well as Black Ops Cold War and The Red Door, you can now add ‘Black Ops CIA’ to the list of potential titles for the game, as JunkratScrub115 managed to boot the game up on his Xbox One console. BREAKING NEWS: People have managed to boot up the Call of Duty 2020 “”The Red Door”” Alpha on Xbox One and the game is called “”Black Ops CIA”

Mysterious access cards appear on Warzone map – Dexerto
Mysterious access cards appear on Warzone map Infinity Ward / Reddit – deemoeterentinoNew “Red Access Cards” have begun appearing across Verdansk in Call of Duty: Warzone, and players are scrambling to figure out what they do. There have been easter eggs across Warzone’s vast map for weeks now and all have seemed to be dead ends, at least so far. Whether it’s the password-protected bunkers or the wonky phones littered throughout Verdansk, none of the game’s devices appear operable. But suddenly, following the massive Modern Warfare update that went live on April 29, access cards are popping up sporadically and speculation is running rampant. The most logical theory is that these new items provide access to the game’s bunkers, which feature keypads and require passcodes to enter. That would be very exciting, as Youtuber ‘S0ur’ has already confirmed that these bunkers have a loot bar of 120 percent, meaning they contain the highest tier of loot in the entire game. Though it would be exciting, it seems not to be the case. Players have run around interacting with bunkers after picking up the card and, as of yet, nobody has been able to open one up. Looking at the item specifically, there’s not much information to glean. It’s called a “Red Access Card” and is marked with a medical logo as well as the effervescent orange hue of Warzone’s legendary items. Red Access Card in Warzone? @MrDalekJD #PS4sharehttps://t.co/SruS5QhTgo pic.twitter.com/foHikIlfZG — DeMarco (@oFearz) April 29, 2020 That medical logo is intriguing, as it doesn’t quite fit what we know of the locked bunkers and, instead, suggests alternate utility. Some have immediately connected it to the computer located at the hospital. Others have noted the possibility that it can be used to revive teammates, maybe at a buy station. Upon early testing efforts, players have found that the cards, in fact, do not log into the hospital’s computer, nor do they enable anything at the buy station. So, more dead ends. Like keycards in Fortnite and vault keys in Apex Legends, we are dying to know if Warzone’s mysterious cards will grant access to a higher tier of loot. One redditor, ‘deemoeterentino,’ specified that he found one “in between the dam and military base” while another, ‘MrTheRevertz-,’ seemed to find one in the heart of Downtown. There appears to be no rhyme or reason to where they can be discovered, making an investigation into their use even more puzzling. Like Jon Snow, we know nothing—so far. It’s possible that the cards won’t even have a function until another update comes in, or that they’re a teaser for Call of Duty 2020 or a future event. But the bunkers still feel like the most reasonable use, so you can be sure that players are testing each one out, just in case.

MWZ players beg devs to implement reconnect feature due to server crashes – Dexerto
MWZ players beg devs to implement reconnect feature due to server crashes ActivisionServer instability is rampant in MWZ, and MW3 players are begging the developers to implement a reconnect feature to alleviate the issue. This year’s CoD title, MW3, is the first Modern Warfare game to feature a Zombies portion after it’s been a series staple in previous entries. Headed by Treyarch, players drop into a hybrid mashup of Zombies and DMZ titled Operation Deadbolt. The goal is to hop in, loot up, complete contracts, and exfil safely. While Operation Deadbolt might sound relatively simple, server crashes and instability have made it a nightmare for some players. MWZ players beg for a reconnect feature As mentioned, Operation Deadbolt is a zombified spin on last year’s DMZ mode from Modern Warfare 2. It’s a simplified version of looter-shooter elements from Escape from Tarkov and similar titles. Much like Tarkov, once you’re in a match, the only way out is via a successful exfil. If you die, you lose everything you found, with no other way to get your belongings back. This last bit is important, as MWZ players have voiced their frustration over losing in-game progress due to circumstances outside their control. For example, MWZ player RainofJustice explained frustration over constant crashing, which led to the loss of loot found, and a plea for a reconnect feature. This discussion opened the door for others who shared the same feelings with some stating the Tombstone Perk should negate this issue. “At this point, they should just make the tombstone perk on everyone, and if you disconnect it acts as a death so you can AT LEAST attempt to get your shit back,” one stated. However, it may not be that simple, as many replied Tombstone doesn’t activate unless you’re “fully dead.” It doesn’t account for server disconnects or crashes. It’s a rather unfortunate situation, and given CoD titles only last a year, hopefully, the developers have plans to sort this out soon.

MW3’s worst weapon is finally good after massive Season 2 buff – Dexerto
MW3’s worst weapon is finally good after massive Season 2 buff ActivisionThe weapon that has been universally panned as the worst in multiplayer received a huge buff in MW3 Season 2 which has made it not only viable but even one of the best options in its category. It’s no secret that most players prefer to use strong weapons that dominate Modern Warfare 3’s meta. These primaries give you an objective advantage be it due to their great TTK, exceptional handling, or ease of use. Equally, some guns see next to no usage outside of Mastery Camo grinding because they are far from competitive. One of the best examples of this was the Sidewinder which many fans had long since decided was MW3’s worst weapon. However, a huge buff in Season 2 has seen the Sidewinder not only become relevant but even a genuinely strong option. The Sidewinder is now a great option in Modern Warfare 3 As part of the Season 2 update, MW3’s worst weapon was given a huge buff that has propelled it from useless to legitimately competitive. As detailed in the patch notes, the base Sidewinder received the following buffs: Increased bullet velocity to 600m/s, up from 540m/s. – Decreased recoil and gun kick significantly. – The bump in bullet velocity is useful but it’s the “decreased recoil and gun kick,” that have truly transformed the Sidewinder. Its extreme recoil was by far the battle rifle’s biggest flaw but it is now a relatively accurate gun given its high damage output. Call of Duty expert TheXclusiveAce showed this in action in his Season 2 weapon balance changes overview. In this video, he compared the Sidewinder’s recoil pre and post-patch and the difference is staggering with the post-patch spread being clumped far closer together and easier to predict. Another change that has benefitted the Sidewinder is the overhaul to Aiming Idle Sway. As of Season 2, Idle Sway is much more predictable and does not trigger immediately upon aiming in but rather briefly after. This benefits slower-firing weapons a lot as precision is much more important given that missing shots with them is less forgiving. This is especially true for those who enjoy using the Sidewinder in semi-auto, which has historically been the preferred method of using the battle rifle.

MW3’s “worst” gun is actually lethal in Warzone with lighting-fast TTK – Dexerto
MW3’s “worst” gun is actually lethal in Warzone with lighting-fast TTK ActivisionThe gun that was once Modern Warfare 3’s “worst” option is actually proving to be deadly in Warzone as it’s got one of the best TTKs in the battle royale. When Modern Warfare 3 launched back in November, players quickly flocked to some of the game’s best weapons in preparation for the integration with Warzone. Guns like the Bas-B, Holger 556, and MCW quickly shot to the forefront, but they weren’t alone. The Sidewinder, which initially had to be unlocked through the Armory Unlock challenges, was tipped to be a top gun in Warzone too. And while it was powerful in the early days of MW3, it was nerfed and became the “worst” gun in the game. The battle rifle has been getting some love in recent updates, especially in Season 2, as its recoil was nerfed and its bullet velocity was buffed. And, if you use it correctly, it is actually one of Warzone’s best guns. That’s according to Warzone guru WhosImmortal who has highlighted the Sidewinder in his March 18 video on the best TTKs in the battle royale. “This is one that you might not realize it’s as good as it is, the semi-auto Sidewinder. Yes, the Sidewinder! What once was the worst gun in the game by a mile is now actually a really competitive option,” the YouTuber said, noting it is also strong in full-auto settings as well. The battle rifle thrives in the “prime midrange” fights of around 35 meters, as it has a 703 ms TTK. “That is leaps and bounds better than the majority of similar weapons at that range,” he adds. Muzzle: Casus Brake L – Barrel: Tempus Predator Precision – Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy support – Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x – Magazine: 30-round drum – Timestamp of 0:28 Like with the semi-auto TAQ-V loadout he also highlighted, the Sidewinder is built for accuracy and control so that you can maximize its power with little recoil. The battle rifle is a “high skill gap” sort of weapon, so it’s unlikely to become fully meta. But, if you can control it, you’re going to find great success.

MW3’s strongest AR suffers “significant” nerf in recent update – Dexerto
MW3’s strongest AR suffers “significant” nerf in recent update ActivisionThe MW3 devs nerfed the Holger 556, and TrueGameData explained how this has the potential to shake up the game’s meta. After a few weeks of acclimating to Modern Warfare 3, one weapon stood head and shoulder above the rest of the competition. The Holger 556 emerged as the best long-range option and the AR also shredded enemies up close and personal. MW3 Players had to adjust for the weapon’s slower fire rate and mobility, but just a few shots were enough to take down an enemy. Pro players quickly caught wind of the AR’s firepower and banned the Holger 556 from competitive play. Casual players don’t have that luxury, so you would be hard-pressed not to see at least one or two players using the hard-hitting rifle during a match. That may all change after the most recent MW3 update. Modern Warfare 3 update takes down Holger 556 As part of the November 21 MW3 update, the Holger 556 saw its headshot, neck, upper torso, arm, and hand damage multipliers all decrease. The AR also had its sprint-to-fire time decreased, which slowed down the weapon’s mobility. TrueGameData tested the Holger 556 in-game and concluded that the update “basically just removed the chest hitbox and lowered the headshot damage.” So using data provided by the TrueGameData website, the MW3 AR does four less damage to every extremity. Before the update, the Holger never suffered a steep damage drop-off at any range. The patch makes it so the rifle does dramatically less damage starting at around 35 meters. TrueGameData elaborated: “This basically didn’t have a drop off. It did have damage drop offs, but it now it’s been fixed where the time-to-kill gets worse at range.” The YouTuber argued that this is a “significant nerf” because the damage’s DPS fell off and the TTk difference will be noticeable. If you need a replacement, check out our best MW3 multiplayer MCW loadout.

MW3’s smaller maps are where the game truly gets to shine – Dexerto
MW3’s smaller maps are where the game truly gets to shine ActivisionDespite the spawn system and constant danger present, the smallest maps of MW3 are where the game’s movement, mechanics, and feel excel. The smallest maps in MW3 are where the game really shines, bringing its fast-paced movement, gunplay, and more to the forefront which far outweighs the negative. Many players seem to feel like these battlefields are too small to be enjoyable, where enemies can spawn on top of each other and it feels like there isn’t time to breathe. However, while these issues can lead to frustrating moments, the feeling of playing these maps is much more in line with how MW3, and the CoD series, should feel. Much of what makes the game so appealing to many fans is the ability to drop in, blast through some enemies, collect XP, and then move on to the next match, which is exactly what the small maps do. As one user explains on the MW3 subreddit: “Learning to become agile in chaos and adapt to player impulses in close range, consistently intense battle… Camo, challenge, and weapon grinding is great.” The XP is a huge part of what makes these MW3 maps special, as the grinding to unlock camos and challenges can be a headache. But spend some time on a map like Shipment, and these issues become so much easier to manage. For some, that’s more than enough to make it worth it, as one person says: “Only appeal to me is getting challenges done faster and XP for weapon leveling.” Further, these maps offer something that the bigger maps don’t: pure chaos. When going around any corner could lead to your death, or tossing a grenade in the air could net you a triple kill out of nowhere, there is a thrill that comes with that. “It’s good fun in an adrenaline ‘wtf is going on?’ type of way, and sometimes the chaos is quite something. Holding a hard point with grenades going off, team members dying around you, and you’re just spraying bullets in the hope to hang on a few more seconds can be exhilarating.” There is room for a larger playground in MW3, and these maps deserve their time as well, but there’s just something special about a smaller environment where the best parts of the game get to shine.

MW3’s Season 1 update sees major changes to contracts in Warzone – Dexerto
MW3’s Season 1 update sees major changes to contracts in Warzone ActivisionSeason 1 of Warzone is around the corner, and with it comes a wave of changes to many of its current contracts and the return of a fan-favorite. Season 1 of Warzone is nearly upon us, signaling the integration of Modern Warfare 3‘s gameplay elements, such as perks, weapons, and Urzikstan. On the other hand, maps like Vondel and Ashika Island from Warzone 2 will bolster the map pool. Despite some upsetting player count news, there’s a palpable amount of hype for Season 1. MW3’s multiplayer component has been generally well-received, and the integration will forge new metas to keep players busy for some time. Ahead of the launch, creators have gotten a chance to preview the first season of content coming, and the changes are way more massive in scale than described. Season 1 update introduces big changes to Warzone and contracts If you’ve played Warzone or even MWZ, you’ll know contracts play a big role in both modes. Successful completion grants hefty bonuses such as loadouts, cash, or other notable gameplay benefits. Aside from the previously mentioned new additions, Season 1 will also see changes to contracts, notably the rewards granted upon completing some of them. Twitch Partner Primroze shared a massive list of changes coming, with one point focusing on updates to the Most Wanted bounty. Upon completing said bounty, players will be given a guaranteed Gulag Entry kit aka another chance to re-enter the Gulag. On the other hand, Scavenger contracts and the Big Game Bounty returns, with the latter granting an Advanced UAV when done. Interestingly enough, Primroze mentioned that completing a Scavenger contract would give a “guaranteed armor plate carrier.” Well-known leaker TheGhostofHope noted that possibly indicating armor satchels from Warzone 1 would return: “WHAT? Are armor satchels from WZ1 back???” Granted, those contract changes are just the beginning of the mountain of changes coming in Season 1. However, what’s been shared is enough to increase fan excitement. Season 1 launches December 6 at 9 AM PT/ 12 PM EST, with changes coming to MW3, MWZ, and Warzone.

MW3’s new take on Zombies mode called “boring” by players – Dexerto
MW3’s new take on Zombies mode called “boring” by players Call of DutyCall of Duty Zombies fans are not happy with the open-world game mode coming to MW3. Zombies has been the equality-hyped counterpart to the Call of Duty franchise since 2008 when World at War was released. There have been a total of ten CoD titles that have had a zombies mode. World at War, Black Ops, Black Ops 2, Advanced Warfare, Infinite Warfare, World War 2, Black Ops 3, Black Ops 4, Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard have all featured a version of Zombies. MW3 will be the eleventh instalment in the franchise. Throughout the years Zombies has created its own community with CoD for those who want a round-based survival and the chance to uncover hidden lore. While each title has had themes of the previous versions, MW3 is taking a new approach to the idea of CoD Zombies. Sledgehammer Games create a lackluster Zombies The CoD NEXT event that took place on Oct. 5 gave the first inside look at what Zombies would be like for the upcoming year. Prior to the reveal, fans of the franchise were excited by what they were seeing. However, now that official gameplay footage has come out some are rethinking their initial reactions with several players calling the game mode “painfully boring.” Popular YouTuber WILDCAT was one of the first to voice their opinions on the gameplay reveal, using sarcasm to disapprove of the open-world style. “Omg shooting zombies in a giant open field,” said WILDCAT. “Exactly what we’ve all been wanting.” Those who have enjoyed playing CoD’s open-world modes like DMZ and Warzone may have a different opinion. The latest version of Zombies takes a lot of inspiration from Warzone, especially with the parachute mechanic. There is no early access for the upcoming Zombies, meaning fans will have to shell out $70 to determine if they like it or not.

MW3’s map updates dominate MW2 but one mode is being ignored – Dexerto
MW3’s map updates dominate MW2 but one mode is being ignored ActivisionA new graphic detailing all of the post-launch content has shown just how much more has come to Modern Warfare 3 than its predecessor, but one mode is being neglected in the process. MW3’s map pool launched with sixteen 6v6 maps, made up exclusively of remastered maps from Modern Warfare 2 (2009), bringing them all into the present day. This is way more than most modern Call of Duty games launch with. Even more impressive, Sledgehammer Games has kept up with providing a constant slew of post-launch content to keep players engaged, outshining MW2 and Infinity Ward in the process. As shown below, MW3 has had a further sixteen 6v6 multiplayer maps added since the start of Season 1, while MW2’s had just 11. Equally, MW2 had just 14 6v6 maps on launch, and many of them were recycled as Ground War. While MW3 clearly has the edge when it comes to core multiplayer, it has left the non-core modes to be given a little less love than they were in Modern Warfare 2. Gunfight has only had one new map, compared to four in MW2, but one that will bother players more is that MW3 has only introduced one new War map in four seasons. This is despite the returning game mode being a fairly prevalent part of Modern Warfare 3’s marketing. In contrast, Modern Warfare 2 received six new battle maps in its first four seasons, considerably more than MW3. Many were simply smaller sections of other maps, such as areas taken from Warzone’s Al Mazrah, but this approach is better than not adding new content to modes like Ground War, War, and Invasion at all. Despite these concerns, Sledgehammer has no doubt been providing more post-launch content than Infinity Ward managed during MW2, and they’ve left a lot for Treyarch to live up to when Black Ops 6 launches in October.

MW3’s JAK Maglift Kit labeled “most sleep-inducing” kit in game – Dexerto
MW3’s JAK Maglift Kit labeled “most sleep-inducing” kit in game ActivisionMW3’s JAK Maglift has been a thorn in the community’s side for some time, and despite some nerfs, players still hate the attachment’s very existence. Season 2 of MW3 saw the arrival of seven new aftermarket parts, one being the JAK Maglift Kit for the Haymaker shotgun. Pop it onto the Haymaker, and it converts the weapon into a fully automatic nightmare. The community called for nerfs as lobbies became flooded with the weapon due to a surprise buff to a 40% fire rate buff. After a nerf brought it back to Earth, the dust has settled, yet the gun’s dominance has left some players salty over the reign of terror it produced, including this brutal blitz in the MW3 subreddit. As you can imagine, this monstrosity excelled on the small maps, with players claiming to break their previously set kill records. The weapon’s dominance created a hive mind effect, as players quickly raced to complete the weekly challenge requirement. One player said: “When one person pulls it out, the whole lobby follows.” Others were quick to chime in with positive feedback, especially regarding how fast XP gains were with it. Despite how strong players felt toward the JAK Maglift, some say its reign didn’t match MW3’s RGL grenade launcher. “It’s bad, but it’s not “grenade launcher in Hardcore” bad. Das House is virtually unplayable,” one player said. As mentioned nerfs did come through, and for the most part, lobbies have stabilized since the shift. However, Season 3 looks to bring back an old classic from 2009’s MW2, the Wardens, aka, the Akimbo Model 1887s.

MW3’s “horrible” ranked matchmaking pits bronze team against top 250 players – Dexerto
MW3’s “horrible” ranked matchmaking pits bronze team against top 250 players ActivisionMW3 Ranked Play is under fire as several low ranked players are forced to compete against top ranked players, with one player’s full bronze team being put up against four top 250 ranked players. The MW3 Ranked Play mode was released during the Season 1 reload that came out in January. As one of the most highly-requested game modes, players were excited to get in on the action. However, as the weeks have passed, MW3 Ranked Play has been under fire from content creators and casual players alike. While previous iterations of the Call of Duty Ranked Play have been less than perfect, MW3 has taken the cake for one of the most broken matchmaking systems. Without any further news from Sledgehammer Games regarding the Ranked Play system, Reddit posts have begun popping up to discuss matchmaking issues. MW3 players slam Ranked Play for unbalanced matches A Reddit user shared a screenshot of a MW3 ranked match featuring a team of Bronze-ranked players facing off against opponents who were all within the top 250. There are eight ranked divisions, which makes this matchup even more confusing. “I heard matchmaking isn’t even solely based on your Ranked Play rank,” said one user. “It’ll also take into consideration your public match performance. So, if you’re a good player in public matches, then it’ll match you with similarly skilled players right off the rip, regardless of your rank. Bronze players can be matched with Crimson just because the game thinks the skill level between players is ‘even.’” People responded to this comment with displeasure, some calling the matchmaking system “horrible,” while others wondered if there was some way that reverse boosting was involved that could make the teams so uneven. “Yeah, I don’t understand the MM for ranked,” said another user under a similar post. “I love ranked. It’s an absolute blast. But you really shouldn’t face outside +/-1. Like Gold should see Plat and Silver. But I think there should be a hidden metric where if you are doing stupid good, you get bumped to a +2-0 to avoid having people that smurf accounts.” This isn’t an isolated incident, either. While there aren’t too many examples of a full bronze team against top 250s, it isn’t all that uncommon for low ranked players to be against people in Crimson or Iridescent. No further updates to MW3 Ranked Play have been made since Season 1 was released. However, the game’s second season is on the horizon and may feature some necessary changes to matchmaking with it.

MW3’s best shotgun has been nerfed just one week after release – Dexerto
MW3’s best shotgun has been nerfed just one week after release ActivisionSledgehammer Games has nerfed the JAK Wardens kit in Modern Warfare 3 one week after their release seeing the previously dominant Akimbo shotguns have their effective damage range massively reduced. MW3’s May 9 update saw various changes including Arcade mode-specific fixes and additional restrictions added to Ranked Play. However, a huge list of changes to the Jak Wardens conversion kit made up most of the patch notes. While the changes made to Slug Shells and Gauge Ball were lengthy, they don’t overly affect how viable each ammunition type is. Instead, it is these nerfs to the Aftermarket Part that have had the biggest impact: Increased standing hipfire spread minimum from 2.3deg/s to 3.3deg/s (+43%) – Increased standing hipfire spread maximum from 5.5deg/s to 5.8deg/s (+5%) – Before these nerfs, it was possible to get a two-shot kill at 29 meters. With this conversion kit being Akimbo you can fire two shots at once resulting in an instant TTK. The JAK Wardens’ pre-patch range was more comparable to COD’s most infamous shotguns like the 725 than it was anything else in MW3. After the patch, the JAK Wardens can now only one shot up to just over 10 meters. That brings the throwback Aftermarket Part more in line with the Lockwood 680. Additionally, the conversion kit is still unforgiving as this maximum damage range only applies when landing both shots directly in the center of the enemy’s stomach or torso. Against moving targets in actual games, it is unlikely that you’ll kill anyone in just two shots unless you are within a few meters. Even after the nerfs, the JAK Wardens are still Modern Warfare 3’s best shotgun thanks to their fast fire rate and incredible sprint to fire speed. However, the gap between them and the other shotguns is much smaller and they don’t completely outperform the alternatives anymore.

MW3’s best Riot Shield counter makes them super easy to deal with – Dexerto
MW3’s best Riot Shield counter makes them super easy to deal with ActivisionAt one point or another, you will have encountered someone using a Riot Shield in Modern Warfare 3 who ruined your game, but there’s a counter that can stop them for good. While Sticky Grenades work fairly well against Riot Shields, they aren’t always reliable. You can only throw so many of them, and their slow speed can make hitting players tricky, especially against enemies who dodge and weave. Thankfully, the JAK Thumper-656 on the RGL-80 fixes this. Released back in Season 4, the Aftermarket Part for the grenade launcher allows it to fire three additional ammo types: 40mm Sticky, 40mm Drill Charge, and 40mm Slug. The 40mm Sticky ammunition is capable of killing a Riot Shield user in a single shot, making it as lethal as a Sticky Grenade, but much easier to land. It doesn’t matter if you hit an enemy’s shield or stick them directly, this attachment guarantees a one-shot kill. Even EOD Padding can’t stop the JAK Thumper-656. Despite the perk’s description saying it “reduces damage from non-killstreak enemy explosives,” this reduction isn’t enough to survive a Sticky Grenade. You can also use the 40mm Drill Charge for a similar effect, with it drilling through Riot Shields before exploding. However, this is less consistent than the 40mm Sticky, with Drill Charges being more likely to hitmaker. Most players will find dealing with Riot Shields much easier using the RGL-80’s conversion kit, but it will require some practice to master. A key tip is to aim high or even above the enemy’s head before shooting. This weapon has severe bullet drop, so aiming too low will often cause your rounds to hit the floor before reaching their target. However, once you’ve mastered this technique, there is no better counter to Riot Shields in Modern Warfare 3, and anyone planning to use one will think twice once you get to work. Once they inevitably switch, you’ll want to use these meta weapons to dominate the lobby.

MW3 Zombies leak unearths “amazing” new Wonder Weapon – Dexerto
MW3 Zombies leak unearths “amazing” new Wonder Weapon ActivisionA leak revealed a new Wonder Weapon coming to MW3 Zombies and fans might recognize its name from a previous game. Zombies in MW3 presents a much different challenge than series veterans are familiar with. Instead of round-based gameplay, Infinity Ward went a different route, leaning closer to what we saw from DMZ in MW2. However, the development team made sure not to stray too far away from what made community members initially fall in love with the mode. Scattered around Urzikstan, the new Zombies and soon-to-be Warzone map, players can find mystery boxes, pack-a-punch machines, and, Wonder Weapons. For pretext, Wonder Weapons are a series of powerful and unusual energy weapons first introduced in Call of Duty: Cold War. There are around 50 Wonder Weapons in the mode’s history, with each new one even wackier and weirder than the last. At launch for MW3, there are three of said weapons, but leaks suggest we could see more coming soon. Modern Warfare 3 zombies Wonder Weapon leak On November 16, CharlieIntel revealed: “A new weapon for Modern Warfare Zombies apparently leaked, called VR-11.” The Call of Duty insider posted a clip of the weapon in what appears to be the MW3 firing range. In typical Wonder Weapon fashion, the VR-11 has strange robotic arms on the front of it and fires a pulse of energy. Community members immediately recognized the weapon from Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies. The VR-11 made its debut in the Call of the Dead map and turned zombies into humans. Zombies would then chase the humans as they screamed and ran toward the closest body of water. One fan responded: “It looks so beautiful, I want it.” A second user added: “For the people who don’t know, this gun was in black ops one and it was trash—excited to see the changes they make with it. And a third fan argued: “This weapon is so weird, but I like it, looks strong.” It’s important to take all leaks with a pinch of salt. But if the VR-11 is anything like its predecessor, fans are in store for a memorable weapon. That’s everything we know about the rumored Wonder Weapon. MW3 Zombies leak reveals exfil streak rewards incoming: Essence boosts, Perk discounts, more – Dexerto
MW3 Zombies leak reveals exfil streak rewards incoming: Essence boosts, Perk discounts, more ActivisionA new Modern Warfare 3 leak has revealed exfil streak rewards are coming with various perks, increased payouts, and more. Unlike previous iterations of Zombies in CoD, MW3 has shaken up a fair few things, namely the shift towards a DMZ-esque mode. And with that, it also means exfiltrating successfully at the end is important to keep any progress you made along the way. And to reward players going on successful exfils, a new leak has revealed a potential addition of exfil streaks in MW3 Zombies. Here is everything we know of the leaked exfil streaks system and its rewards. According to the MWIIIINTEL Twitter account, the new exfil streak reward system is coming to MW3 Zombies, although with no release date locked in just yet. When it does arrive, however, according to the leak it will do so with a total of 10 successful consecutive exfil rewards. The rewards are: Start the next match with 500 Essence – Start the next match with 5 Armor Plates – Start the next match with 1000 Essence – 30% Discount at Perk Machines – Start the next match with 1500 Essence – A reward increase in Contract Payouts – Start the next match with 2500 Essence – 50% Discount at Mystery Box – Start the next match with 5000 Essence – 20% Discount at Pack-a-Punch – To obtain these exfil rewards, you’ll need to complete a successful exfil by heading over to an exfil site and interacting with the green smoke to call for the extraction helicopter. Since MW3 Zombies is quite similar to DMZ, it’s likely you’ll need to finish a contract for the game to count towards the rewards list. And it’s also a given that dying in MW3 Zombies, or failing the exfil, could potentially reset your exfil streak. However, none of that is confirmed as Sledgehammer has yet to formally announce any upcoming exfil streak rewards coming into MW3 Zombies, but we will update you here once we know more.

Everything we know about the V-R11 Wonder Weapon in MW3 Zombies – Dexerto
Everything we know about the V-R11 Wonder Weapon in MW3 Zombies The V-R11 is a returning Wonder Weapon for the series, though it’s been over a decade since its seen the light of day. With it set to return in MW3’s Season 1 update, here’s everything we know about the returning Zombies Wonder Weapon. Wonder Weapons have been a key part of Zombies’ identity since its inception. Though it started with just the Ray Gun, other staples like the Wunderwaffe and Thunder Gun were the sort of weapons players pined for in the early days. The V-R11 was initially introduced in Black Ops 1 over a decade ago in 2011 as a Wonder Weapon that was integral to Call of the Dead’s storyline and had some unique effects on players. Now, it’s set to come back in Modern Warfare 3’s Zombies mode. Here’s what we know about the weapon so far. When is the V-R11 getting added to MW3 Zombies? The V-R11 will be available in MW3 Zombies once Season 1 drops on December 6. It’ll be added alongside many other Zombies content updates like Dark Aether Rifts and the Sigils that will need to be collected to access them. With the V-R11 having so much story significance in its series debut back in the day, it’s yet unclear if it’ll have a similar level of relevance in MW3 when it comes to Easter Eggs. How to get the V-R11 Wonder Weapon in MW3 Zombies It isn’t yet known how to get the V-R11 in MW3 Zombies seeing as the update isn’t out just yet. But, the original Black Ops 1 version was accessible via the mystery box. Considering it’s possible to get Wonder Weapons via the Mystery Box in MW3 Zombies, there’s a good chance the V-R11 will be added to the loot pool. However, it’s also possible that the new Dark Aether Rifts could hold the secret to obtaining this weapon. It remains to be seen if players will have to jump through some hoops to get ahold of this weapon. What does the V-R11 do? The V-R11 isn’t as outwardly lethal as many other Wonder Weapons, and it has much more of an identity as a sort of utility weapon. So far, this is what the MW3 devs have given away as the weapon’s purpose: “Turn enemies into allies with the powerful V-R11! Shoot zombies and transform them into humans, or blast humans to mutate them into friendly zombies. As you might expect, transformed humans join you in the fight, drawing the attention of nearby zombies, while transformed zombies will commence their ceaseless hunt for your enemy’s flesh!” Seeing as Romero isn’t roaming around in Modern Warfare 3, this weapon doesn’t have the same direct purpose as it had when it was originally introduced. In Black Ops 1, it was also possible to blast allies to buff them and make it so that zombies ignore them, with the Pack-a-Punched version adding an Insta-kill buff to allies, as well. It’s yet unclear if that’ll carry over into the MW3 version. That’s everything we know about the V-R11 Wonder Weapon in MW3 Zombies. MW3 Zombies: How to activate Pack-a-Punch weapons – Dexerto
MW3 Zombies: How to activate Pack-a-Punch weapons ActivisionMW3 Zombies’ portion marks a subtle shift to how Zombies works, although some classic features return. Here’s what you need to know about Pack-a-Punching in MWZ. Despite MW3 coming from the team at Sledgehammer Games, Treyarch has lent a hand with the Zombies portion of the title. That said, MW3 Zombies, or MWZ, has a different spin on the classic experience. Operation Deadbolt is a new twist on Zombies, throwing players into Urzikstan, the new Warzone map coming in Season 1 of MW3. It ditches the traditional round-based survival for an extraction-based mode a la MW2’s DMZ. However, it does retain a few classic features, such as Perks and the Pack-a-Punch machine. Speaking of, Pack-a-Punch works differently this time around. Here’s what you need to know. How to get Pack-a-Punch in MW3 Zombies To Pack-a-Punch a weapon in zombies, you simply need to find one of the machines scattered around the map. In previous iterations of Zombies, you needed to activate the power, find the machine, and then spend points to upgrade weapons. You no longer need to turn on the power; you only need to find the machine and spend the points known as Essence. How does Pack-a-Punch work However, there are a few caveats to know of. Since MWZ is inspired by the DMZ, you’ll navigate through various zones that increase in difficulty. This impacts Pack-a-Punching weapons, as you can only Pack-a-Punch a weapon one time per zone. There are three zones in the mode, meaning you’ll need to travel deeper into the map to access higher-level upgrades. As you progress, the cost of upgrading also rises: Zone 1 (Clear Zone): 5000 Essence – Zone 2 (Orange Zone): 10,000 Essence – Zone 3 (Red Zone): 15,000 Essence – You earn Essence by killing zombies, completing contracts, finding purple Essence containers around the map, or selling items found during a match. Can you exfil with Pack-a-Punch weapons? Unfortunately, you cannot exfil with Pack-a-Punch weapons, meaning it’s a one-and-done deal. You also can’t exfil with your Essence, so you might as well use it while you can. That’s all you need to know about how Pack-a-Punch works in MW3’s Zombies mode. MW3 Zombies fans devastated as devs confirm no plans for content – Dexerto
MW3 Zombies fans devastated as devs confirm no plans for content ActivisionThe fanbase for MW3 Zombies is reeling as the devs have announced there are currently no plans for future content. While the multiplayer for MW3 has taken center stage since the game’s release last year, the Zombies mode has quietly cultivated a strong following. A lot of players enjoy the new take on the classic Zombies mode, with its open design and chaotic, cooperative gameplay. However, the devs have shown they aren’t planning to add any more content to the mode, leaving the community devastated. MW3 Zombies fans let down by devs’ lack of content plans The news broke on X, then made its way to the CODZombies subreddit, where the poster shared the sad news about possible future content: “According to MrDalek JD, Treyarch has confirmed that there are no plans to add new enemies and new perks to MWZ.” The response from the community has not been positive, with one user simply claiming: “I feel robbed.” A common feeling among the MW3 Zombies base is that it feels like the mode is dying and that there isn’t going to be anything new added to it. “Seems that the mode is already starting to die. I was still hoping they would have improved it in the future seasons, but seems that they actually don’t care at all about this mode.” This news is leading many members of the community to plan on leaving the mode – and the game as a whole – entirely. One user intends to uninstall the game and “make room for better games” on their system. It’s a disappointing outcome for a mode that had a surprising hype cycle around it at launch. Now the MW3 Zombies community is left wondering what they’re going to be doing.

MW3 Zombies players praise Exfil enemy improvements for Season 1 – Dexerto
MW3 Zombies players praise Exfil enemy improvements for Season 1 Activision BlizzardMW3 Season 1 and Season 1 Reloaded will introduce some noteworthy changes to Zombies’ Exfil enemies that players are already applauding. Thus far, players seem split on Zombies Mode’s first introduction into the Modern Warfare experience. Some like the new take on the classic Call of Duty mode; meanwhile, others have labeled it a bore fest filled with generic gameplay elements. Either way, Zombies developer Treyarch remains hard at work on ironing out the kinks. And it appears as though a few major changes will hit the mode in Modern Warfare 3 Season 1. According to CoD-dedicated content creators, the mode’s Exfil experience will soon enjoy drastic improvements. MW3 Zombies’ Exfil is getting more enemy types in Season 1 The Exfil experience for Zombies will ramp up with the imminent rollout of Modern Warfare 3’s first season. Content creator MrDalekJD revealed as much on social media, saying that in speaking with Treyarch developers on a call, he learned that more “formidable enemies” will spawn at Exfils in the upcoming season. In addition, Exfils across all zones will start spawning an increased number of enemies. Moreover, players navigating the Final Exfil can expect to encounter a higher number of enemies in addition to new enemy types. Treyarch’s community-dedicated account, TreyarchCM, clarified a couple of things in MrDalekJD’s replies, noting that the more formidable foes will fill out all of Zombies’ Exfil zones at the start of MW3 Season 1. However, the increased enemy spawns and Final Exfil-related changes will arrive in-season. Players are already shouting the studio’s praises for such adjustments. Lots of ‘W’ comments fill the replies, for example. Someone else chimed in with, “Fantastic, this game mode is great and is going to get better, apart from the servers!!!!!” Another user responded to the Treyarch reply, saying, “…making final exfil worth a visit, with some serious risk, is a massive improvement. [This is] exactly what I was hoping would happen.” MW3 Zombies players can start getting their hands on these updates when Season 1 goes live on Wednesday, December 6.

Modern Warfare 3 coming to Xbox Game Pass according to leak – Dexerto
Modern Warfare 3 coming to Xbox Game Pass according to leak Microsoft/ActivisionEver since the much-discussed acquisition of Activision Blizzard from Microsoft, Call of Duty players have questioned whether it’s possible we see the franchise’s back catalog land on the Game Pass service for free. Now, it appears that process could be starting, as it has been leaked that Modern Warfare 3 could be coming to Xbox Game Pass very soon. On July 9, Microsoft announced a number of pricing and tier changes coming to their paid service, including price increases and the introduction of a new, cheaper tier that doesn’t let you play new games on Day One. It appears that they’re looking to supplement the price increase for one of the biggest player bases in the world, however, as Insider Gaming has reported that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be coming to Xbox Game Pass later in July 2024. While Insider Gaming couldn’t nail down a specific date for the release, it claims that MW3 should be coming to Game Pass in the latter half of the month — meaning it could come after the Call of Duty Championship from July 18-21. While this wouldn’t exactly indicate a clear intention from Microsoft on the future of Call of Duty titles on Xbox Game Pass, some players will no doubt see this as the first step in getting all games on the service. It has already been announced that Black Ops 6 will be on Game Pass at launch on October 25, but as for previous titles, the verdict is not yet clear.

The Reclaimer 18 comes with two fire modes: pump-action or semi-auto. It also comes with new in-game camos earned via challenges called “Bugged Out,” “He’s Looking At You,” Azure Refract,” and “Donut Worry.” Upon earning either or both weapons, they can be used in MW3’s multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. On impact, any nearby enemies are damaged and pushed back. – Mutant Leap: Perform a charged jump that covers vast distances. – Toxic Stim Cloud: Deploy a poisonous cloud that inflicts damage to enemies and boosts your squad mates’ speed for a short duration. – Sludge Sling: Toss sludge grenades that explode into a toxic gas cloud on impact. The gas slows and damages enemies over time. – Mutant Cloak: Turn partially invisible for a short time. You leave green footprints while cloaked. – Mutant Vision: See enemies outlined in red through walls for a short duration. – “[Redacted]” Weapons Powerful weapons can be found within Loot Hot Zones and Bunkers, and these weapons feature more than the traditional five attachment setups. This has been a standard on Rebirth Island with the introduction of the Biometric Scanners, but it finally hits the rest of Warzone with this update. Runaway Train Public Event This has been a feature since before Season 4 Reloaded, and it will stay throughout the remainder of the season. During the sixth gas circle, this public event may trigger, forcing players to race to capture the train, which will be covered in the safe zone. Expect plenty of action during this public event. MW3 Season 4 Reloaded Zombies update The Zombies mode will see Unstable Rift join, a new wave-based combat challenge. Several of these will appear during a match, and players must race to enter them before squads do. MW3 will feature yet another fast-food operator – Dexerto
MW3 will feature yet another fast-food operator Reddit: JoshxTDECall of Duty will once again be pairing up with a fast food chain to promote the release of Modern Warfare 3. There have been dozens of food and beverage companies who have teamed up with CoD to push the newest game. Last year, Jack Links and Burger King had exclusive operator skins for MW2, which could be acquired by fans buying select items at the fast food restaurants. Each year CoD, partners with a food and beverage company to promote their newest title. In-game rewards are essential whenever a new game releases to obtain items faster than other players and show off their new skins when there aren’t too many in the game just yet. Mountain Dew, Pizza Rolls and Doritos have also teamed up with CoD in the past. All three have offered in-game content as well double XP for their branded products. Mountain Dew even received an operator skin last year with Jack Links and Burger King. Little Caesars will be the next food company to join the list as a new orange operator was just revealed through leaks. Players can hop in ‘Hot n’ Ready’ for Modern Warfare 3 A supposed Little Caesars employee showcased what appears to be a promotional poster for MW3. The poster features a pizza-themed operator with an orange face mask, a Hot n’ Ready hat, and a pizza cutter on the vest. Little Caesars first joined the Call of Duty sponsorship family last year with the release of MW2. The Little Caesars Call of Duty Combo was a Slices n’ Sticks combo accompanied by a 20 oz Mountain Dew. For those who bought the bundle, they would receive a Little Caesars pizza emblem, weapon charm, 30-minute double XP token and pizza player card. This year’s rendition of the partnership is in the form of the operator skin for an unknown operator. The poster itself had no official release date, and it did not say if there would be additional in-game content that comes along with the operator skin.

MW3 welcomes ranked play during season one – Dexerto
MW3 welcomes ranked play during season one Call of DutyModern Warfare 3’s ranked play will be similar to MW2 and release midway through season one. Call of Duty has a love-hate relationship with ranked play from the community’s standpoint. How to claim the ladder has changed over the years, with games like Modern Warfare 2019 lacking the competitive aspect entirely. Warzone has also adapted a ranked play system which has been hit-or-miss depending on the season. As one of the most competitive first-person shooter titles, the CoD fanbase anxiously awaits the return of ranked play each year. However, not every ranked play version has been released so soon after the game. It is not uncommon for the developer studio to announce ranked play several months after a game’s initial release. This year, fans will be able to grind their way to the top much sooner thanks to the smooth transition from MW2 to MW3. Treyarch returns to bring ranked play to MW3 CoD developer Treyarch was the studio to create the most recent version of ranked play which had a “Skill Rating” system that would put players into specific “Rank Divisions.” This system will be returning with the release of MW3, as revealed during the CoD next event. “Our friends at Treyarch are on the case again with ranked play,” said multiplayer creative director Greg Reisdorf. “They do a fantastic job with it and we love partnering with them. They are going to bring that experience, update it, modernise it, from MW2 for season one point five.” It’s expected that the ranked play system will have a similar layout to the current version to match with the continuance of the previous title. Reisdorf says that the middle of season one will give players the chance to get the feel for the newly polished title before getting into the competitive aspect. There is no set release date for season one as of yet, but MW3 officially launches globally on November 10.

Modern Warfare 3 players applaud new weapon check animation changes – Dexerto
Modern Warfare 3 players applaud new weapon check animation changes Activision BlizzardMW3 players are applauding Sledgehammer Games for finally addressing their weapon check animation complaints. MW3 players have been frustrated over a long gun cocking animation that plays instantly after a respawn. There’s nothing wrong with the animation itself; rather, the issue is its length, which no one can opt out of, which often results in players getting gunned down as soon as they load back in. Frequent deaths of this nature have understandably culminated in a long line of frustration-fueled social media posts and the like. Thankfully, developer Sledgehammer Games has acknowledged the error and issued a fix. MW3 devs finally fix weapon check animation during respawn In a Twitter/X post on January 4, Sledgehammer Games confirmed that Gun Game will now appear in Modern Warfare 3‘s Quick Play filter. Better still, the post also revealed the gun cocking animation will no longer play after users respawn in small map playlists. Players can now expect to jump back into the action without needless interruptions. The development team’s full message reads as follows: Replies to the post are filled with appreciation being thrown Sledgehammer’s way. One user wrote in response to the MW3 weapon check animation change: “THIS CHANGE IS GREAT!! I was close to making a post about it but yall already on it! Love that!” Another person called it a ‘W’ on the dev’s part, writing, “W. Hoping to see even more improvements next week and with Reloaded update.” Elsewhere in the thread, a player labeled the fix a “That’s a nice quality-of-life update.” News about the weapon animation fix has also reached Reddit, where plenty of users are celebrating that they’ll no longer die on the likes of Shipment due to an unavoidable gun animation. However, others have high hopes that marks but one step towards eliminating the sequence across all maps.

MW3 & Warzone’s Dune 2 cosmetics lets players choose House Atreides or Harkonnen Activision BlizzardThe promotional campaign around the mega-hit film Dune Part Two has reached COD as skins that allow players to become characters from the movie were revealed as a part of the Season 2 Reloaded update. Activision has released the notes for the Season 2 Reloaded mid-season update. The new wave of content will feature new weapons, killstreaks, and cosmetics for COD players to dive right into. The update also includes another round of collaborations with brand IP that will bring other franchises into the Call of Duty universe via cosmetics. Season 2 Reloaded will feature bundles for Warhammer 40,000 and Dune Part Two, the latter of which is making headlines for its box office return and cultural impact. House Atreides and Harkonnen join the COD battle According to the update, COD players will be able to purchase two separate Dune Part Two bundles, the Harkonnen Pack and the Paul Atreides Operator Bundle. The cosmetics will allow players to suit up as the main character, and messiah of the Dune universe Paul, or take on the look of the villains of the first two movies, House Harkonnen. Both cosmetic packs boast futuristic armor and weapon blueprints that try to match the weapons in COD to those seen in the films. The Harkonnen bundle includes a Harkonnen Hunter Operator skin, two weapon blueprints for an Assualt Rifle and Sniper Rifle, a melee weapon, an animated calling card, a weapon charm, and an animated emblem. The Paul Atreides Operator Bundle dropped in late 2023, costing about $20, and lets players load into matches wearing the face of the movie’s star Timothée Chalamet along with other cosmetics. If players purchase both bundles in the Dune Part Two collection, then they will unlock the Paul Atreides Fedaykin Stealth Suit Operator skin. Once players have purchased all of the Dune cosmetics, it will be up to them to choose between playing as the good or bad guys.

MW3 & Warzone September 5 update patch notes: BAL-27 exploit & Bunker Buster fix – Dexerto
MW3 & Warzone September 5 update patch notes: BAL-27 exploit & Bunker Buster fix ActivisionModern Warfare 3 and Warzone’s latest update made a few minor bug fixes, addressed an exploit with the new BAL-27 aftermarket part, and addressed an issue with Bunker Busters in battle royale matches. In Season 4, a glitch with Trophy Systems made Bunker Breakers unusable for the duration of the match. Raven Software resolved it in the Season 5 update, but the patch introduced another issue that allowed them to obtain an absurd number of Bunker Busters. The development team quickly sprung into action and temporarily disabled the killstreak. Now that they are back, players found a problem with them getting used too frequently in the same area, so this update makes it harder to use more than one at the same time. Meanwhile, the JAK Deathmarch turns the BAL-27 into an energy burst gun with a short charge-up time. The aftermarket part performs especially well in multiplayer, but an exploit resulted in infinite ammo.
