JGOD explains how Operation Monarch event could damage Warzone’s playerbase Activision / JGODWarzone’s Operation Monarch, which saw both King King and Godzilla invade Caldera, hasn’t been well received by the community. CoD expert JGOD has explained why the event could hurt the playerbase long-term. It’s safe to say that Operation Monarch hasn’t been well-received by the Warzone community. Overall, it seems the King King/Godzilla crossover has been “disappointing,” due to the lack of interaction between the two titans and misleading promotional material. The event is only sticking around in Warzone Season 3 for a couple of weeks, meaning most players will have their fun grinding challenges and then head back over to the normal BR or Rebirth Island. However, Warzone expert JGOD feels that the letdown of an event could force players to stay away from the game, hurting it going forward. JGOD on how Godzilla vs King King event could hurt Warzone JGOD recently discussed why exactly Operation Monarch “flopped.” He began comparing Warzone’s attempt at a live event to Fortnite’s in-game spectacles and claimed that Raven have missing the chance to attract new players or those who fell off. “There’s not a lot of reason to come back and try the game for the first time,” JGOD explained. He took issue with the fact that the Operation Monarch event still requires players to face off against each other. “There’s a lot of work to stay up to date in Warzone because the meta shifts” he continued. “If you’re a new player you do not have those weapons leveled, so what are you supposed to do? Just come back and have crappy guns?” He argued that Warzone’s live events should follow Fortnite’s model where players simply sit back and watch the show without worrying about winning a real match. This could get more casual users “hooked” and even “juice” the overall playerbase. “That’s what Fortnite does…they have these cool events where you can have zero interest, zero skill in Fortnite, but you’ll log in to check out the event because you know you can,” JGOD added. “Then, maybe you’re like ‘well let’s play a couple games,’ and then it’s ‘oh that was kinda fun, let me stick around.’ That should be the goal of the live events.” While Warzone has a strong and dedicated community, it has been argued in the past that Caldera isn’t the most welcoming for casual players. Hopefully, Raven can learn from Operation Monarch, and their competitors, to attract more users with their next event.

JGOD discovers Warzone trick that lets you throw C4 twice as far – Dexerto
JGOD discovers Warzone trick that lets you throw C4 twice as far ActivisionWhile the Warzone Season 6 update nerfed the C4’s overall potency across Verdansk, JGOD has found a nifty trick that enables you to throw it even further. Warzone’s C4 may not be as deadly as it once was, but it’s still incredibly useful when used correctly. After all, being able to counter the game’s various vehicles and pesky campers that inhabit Verdansk is a bonus for any squad. Many players ditched C4 after the Season 6 update nerfed its quick detonation, added a beeping audio cue, and shortened its overall launch distance. However, Call of Duty content creator, JGOD, has revealed some handy tricks that enable players to throw C4 twice as far. Whether you’re looking to increase your explosive kill count or just wish to avoid any annoying end-game vehicle shenanigans, then this C4 trick will enable you to deliver an explosive surprise. How to throw C4 further in Warzone Before you use the technique below, you’ll want to head on over to Warzone’s private lobby. While you can give it a whirl in the game’s standard battle royale and multiplayer modes, the addition of other players can make mastering this technique a little more difficult. Once you’ve booted up a private lobby, simply follow the instructions outlined below: Step One: Equip C4 and have it ready. – Step Two: Tac Sprint towards your target. – Step Three: Throw and jump to launch the C4 forwards. – Step Four: Detonate the C4. – Even after the Season 6 nerfs, this technique enables you to throw C4 twice as far. By using JGOD’s technique, you’ll be able to catch out pesky campers and stop vehicles dead in their tracks. If you don’t have time to do the technique outlined above, then simply Tac Sprint towards your target and throw out the C4. While it won’t go as far, the explosive satchel will still cover a decent range. So, there you have it, a simple trick you can use to throw C4 further in Warzone. Be sure to check out our Call of Duty page for more tips and tricks.

JGOD discovers “significant” secret Warzone buffs to Quick Fix and Restock perks – Dexerto
JGOD discovers “significant” secret Warzone buffs to Quick Fix and Restock perks Activision / JGODAs Warzone players continue to find new things in Season 2 Reloaded, JGOD has discovered enormous silent buffs to both the Quick Fix in Restock perks, making both overpowered. With Warzone players developing new strategies for the all-inclusive battle royale experience, we could see a shift in the meta. While some weapons could become more popular, there is also some up and coming perks in the works as well. Recently in Warzone, TrueGameData found that Ghost had been silently nerfed, and now JGOD has discovered that Quick Fix and Restock got a similar treatment. Warzone Quick Fix and Restock secret buffs In a tweet on March 28, JGOD revealed that two perks have been “buffed significantly in Warzone” and was never marked in the patch notes. So it looks like Restock and Quick Fix were changed, not sure when, but I dont remember seeing this in the patch notes. Both Buffed significantly in Warzone. pic.twitter.com/ekNwOLVkGg — James – JGOD (@JGODYT) March 28, 2022 The first was Quick Fix, which now will start healing a person immediately after they start using armor plates. JGOD tested this in a game and the results are crazy. Quick Fix will now regenerate your health about two seconds faster than without it, which could make it one of the most essential perks in Warzone. Quick Fix will now get you to full health almost 2 Seconds faster in Warzone. Are you changing your Perk 1? pic.twitter.com/JIvs6Yjl3G — James – JGOD (@JGODYT) March 28, 2022 According to WZRanked, the perk ranks in the bottom half of the first perk slot, but with this now letting you rechallenge someone faster, it could be extremely necessary. On the other hand, Restock also saw a hefty buff sneak into the battle royale. The perk now works twice as fast – with the exception of Stims – to refill any equipment. Previously, it would take 25 seconds for things to recharge, but now it has been cut in half. This makes things like stuns and snapshot grenades a lot more viable in most scenarios, as you will be able to “spam” them more often. Much like the Ghost secret nerf, these went unnoticed by Raven Software, which remains a mystery to the community. However, these buffs are indeed live in the current patch, so you can start using these in your next game.

JGOD discovers secret Warzone Bren buff that totally changes the meta – Dexerto
JGOD discovers secret Warzone Bren buff that totally changes the meta Activision / JGODThe Warzone Season 2 update introduced tweaks to some of the battle royale’s many weapons, and JGOD has discovered a secret buff to the Bren not mentioned in the patch notes. As is the case with all of the game’s major updates, Warzone Season 2 came with a slew of changes to the ever-growing lineup of weapons. Plenty of different guns received buffs and nerfs, while the new Whitley LMG and KG M40 were added to shake up the meta. Meanwhile, the PPSH saw an accidental change that made it Caldera’s most devastating weapon, one that is set to be patched in the coming days. But the SMG wasn’t the only weapon to receive a major tweak that wasn’t listed in the patch notes. CoD expert JGOD has discovered that the Bren has been hit with a “meta-breaking” buff, which once again makes it a force of nature in Warzone matches. Bren receives secret buff in Warzone Season 2 When Vanguard weapons first made the leap over to Warzone, it was found that some of the game’s Barrels could give LMGs unlimited range. The Bren then took over Warzone, and it had to be nerfed soon after. The Warzone Season 2 update appears to have undone this nerf, and it might just make the LMG one of the most OP options in the game. In an upload to his YouTube channel, JGOD carried out a test in which he discovered that the Season 2 update boosted the Bren’s damage while removing the drop-off that normally occurs as the range increases. Put simply, this means that it will dish out the same amount of damage no matter how far away from an enemy you are. He went on to explain the secret buff also had a huge impact on the time-to-kill (TTK). The Bren now has a TTK under 700, dwarfing the likes of the Cold War XM4 and AK-47, taking the weapon “back to the way it was when it was the most dominant gun in the game.” According to JGOD, the Queen’s 705mm Royal Barrel appears to be the cause of this insane buff, so players should consider equipping it when coming up with their loadout. The infinite damage range also means that attachments that normally boost this stat are now irrelevant, so you can focus your setup around factors like bullet velocity or movement. Much like the PPSH, there’s a good chance this was an accidental buff that slipped into the Warzone Season 2 update. Don’t be surprised to see a fix for this very soon, but we strongly recommend you make the most of it while it’s here.

JGOD crowns new Warzone SMG the best gun in the game ahead of Season 4 – Dexerto
JGOD crowns new Warzone SMG the best gun in the game ahead of Season 4 ActivisionJGOD is one of the internet’s favorite Warzone experts and in his top loadouts for Season 3 Reloaded video, he added a newcomer to his best loadouts list, claiming that it should be most players’ new go-to option. Season 3 proved to be a chaotic one through and through for the Warzone meta. Whether it was the downfall of a few popular SMGs or the complete reconstruction of the Sniper meta, plenty of weapons have come and gone over the last two months. That means there was plenty of room for a new entry at the top of the order, and after it trending up for a few weeks now, JGOD says that there is finally a new king of the hill in terms of up-close fighting JGOD reveals #1 loadout for the end of Season 3 Reloaded When discussing the best loadout in this version of the game, the coveted “Meta Chasers” spot in his rankings, JGOD points out that players who take the game seriously are likely rocking either the NZ-41 or the H4 Blixen as their weapon of choice. Of course, someone running Overkill could easily slap on both of them and stand alone at the top of the meta choices. While the NZ has more competition around it thanks to guns like the BAR and the STG-44, the Blixen is really only competing against the Type 100 (and maybe the Welgun) right now. JGOD’s H4 Blixen loadout Muzzle: Recoil Booster – Barrel: Bergstrom 17″ F3 – Optic: Slate Reflector – Stock: Removed Stock – Underbarrel: SG98 Compact – Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 54 Round Mag – Ammunition: Hollow Point – Rear Grip: Grooved Grip – Perk: Steady – Perk 2: Quick – His loadout isn’t anything out of the norm, although the Blixen does have a few attachments that are specific to itself. All of them work together to keep the recoil low and the TTK high, which is what makes this weapon such a viable option at the top of the game. Now that the Season 4 roadmap is out and things are set to change once again, there’s no telling exactly how long this setup will stay the optimal option in the game, but for now, JGOD is confident in its place at the top.

JGOD crowns nerfed Vanguard LMG as best weapon in Warzone Season 5 – Dexerto
JGOD crowns nerfed Vanguard LMG as best weapon in Warzone Season 5 JGOD/ActivisionWarzone Season 5 Reloaded nerfed the fan favorite UGM-8, but JGOD still believes it is the best long-ranged option. Season 5 Reloaded marks the final major update for Warzone before Warzone 2 releases in November. Raven Software overhauled the Battle Royale’s meta one last time, focusing on nerfing long ranged ARs and LMGs. At the start of Season 5, the developers added sniper glints to the most powerful AR scopes, and in Season 5 Reloaded, the UGM-8 finally received a nerf. The PPSh-41 and Armaguera dominated Warzone’s short-range meta and received much-needed nerfs as well. The UGM-8 packs less punch than before the latest update, but Warzone YouTuber JGOD still believes it is the go-to weapon for long-range engagements. JGOD reveals lethal UGM-8 loadout In the Season 5 Reloaded weapon balance update, the UGM-8 received a few major nerfs. Min Damage decreased to 22, down from 23 – Recoil Intensity increased – Headshot Damage multiplier decreased to 1.5, down from 1.6 – 6.5mm Sakura 125 Round Box Capacity decreased to 100, down from 125 – Despite Raven Software’s best attempt to nerf the overpowered weapon, The UGM-8 is still the fourth most selected weapon and boasts the highest KD ratio according to WZRanked. JGOD explained why the UGM-8 is still the king in long-range engagements in his October 4 YouTube video. The Warzone expert said, “absolute meta I think right now is still the UGM. That’s just because it does good damage, has a fast fire rate, a big magazine, and even though they nerfed it, it is still super easy to use. Here is JGOD’s UGM-8 loadout Muzzle: MK Silencer Barrell: Bernard XL214 736mm Optic: M38/Slate 2.5x custom Stock: Mercier WT Ancre Underbarrel: M1930 Strife Angled Magazine: 6.5mm Sakura 100 Round Magazine Rear Grip: Hatched Grip Perk: Tight Grip Perk 2: On-Hand JGOD also mentioned, “This meta is pretty close. There are many things that really come down to preference, and many of these (weapons) can shift up and down.” The YouTuber recommended pairing the UGM-8 with the Armaguerra 43 for the perfect mix of long-range and short-range meta.

JGOD creates “top tier” QBZ Warzone loadout that’s perfect for Season 6 – Dexerto
JGOD creates “top tier” QBZ Warzone loadout that’s perfect for Season 6 JGOD / ActivisionCall of Duty content creator JGOD has revealed his new QBZ loadout that is dominating the competition in Warzone. The QBZ has slowly been creeping up the Warzone AR rankings for a while now, but the recent Season 6 weapon nerfs have given it the push it really needs to shine. While the Cold War rifle hasn’t broken into the top five best Warzone weapons, JGOD believes that the QBZ is a top-tier pick. Combining high accuracy and great damage, the QBZ is capable of some truly monstrous damage if you kit it out with the necessary attachments. Whether you’re tired of using Warzone best ARs or just wish to get ahead of the meta curve, then JGOD’s QBZ loadout will do just that. JGOD’s QBZ loadout Attachments Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Barrel: 15.5″ Task Force – Optic: Axial Arms 3x – Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip – Ammunition: STANAG 60 Rnd Drum – JGOD’s QBZ loadout is tailored around boosting the gun’s accuracy and overall damage range, making it an incredibly viable mid-range option in Warzone. Both the Agency Suppressor and 15.5” Task Force barrel enhance the gun’s range, bullet velocity, recoil control, and even suppress your shots. The Field Agent Grip also greatly diminishes the AR’s beefy recoil even further, which means you’ll be able to effortlessly beam opponents from afar without the need to constantly make any major adjustments. Because of the huge reduction in recoil, JGOD has attached the Axial Arms 3x. This optic is a must for any Cold War AR, especially if you wish to remain competitive in mid to long-range firefights. Simply scan your surroundings for any targets and light them up with the QBZ’s incredibly lethal headshot and bodyshot damage. Lastly, JGOD has rounded off his build with the STANAG 60 Rnd Drum. While this attachment may lower the QBZ’s ADS time and increase the AR’s reload time, the added ammo count is a must. After all, you’ll be able to down entire squads in a single clip if you land the majority of your bullets. Whether the QBZ will finally make its way into the top 10 Warzone AR rankings in Season 6 remains to be seen, but for now, JGOD’s loadout proves just how lethal this Cold War weapon can truly be.

JGOD confirms massive Warzone change for UAVs to counter Ghost players – Dexerto
JGOD confirms massive Warzone change for UAVs to counter Ghost players Activision / JGODAs Warzone Season 6 comes to an end and the new Pacific map rolls in, JGOD confirms a massive change for UAVs to counter Ghost players. In Warzone, players have multiple ways to acquire streaks to help aid them on their path to victory. One that is extremely useful is the UAV as it reveals the location of enemies on the map. To counter this, players can equip the Ghost perk in their loadout to remain hidden from UAVs. But JGOD explained how a hidden change to stacking UAVs can now reveal enemies shrouded with the perk. JGOD shows off Warzone triple UAVs change to reveal Ghost players A super UAV or “stacking” is when you call in three of them at the same time which will reveal the location of enemies and the direction they are facing. In a YouTube video, Warzone guru JGOD explains a stealth change the devs made that now makes super UAVs really powerful. Before this update, when you called in three UAVs and players had the Ghost perk on then they would remain hidden. With this new update, the super UAV now reveals all players that are using the Ghost perk on the minimap and they’ll appear as a red dot. This works on everyone within the 250-300 meter range and players that do not have Ghost will be a triangle on the minimap that shows the direction they are facing. Along with this change, Advanced UAVs will now show every enemy on the map as well as the direction they’re looking even if they have Ghost on. It is unknown why the devs decided to make such a huge change without making note of it but this is definitely a mechanic you will want to take advantage of as the new Warzone Pacific map hits the game in Season 1 of Vanguard.

JGOD claims Warzone’s deadly SMG Type 63 is the new “FAL 2.0” – Dexerto
JGOD claims Warzone’s deadly SMG Type 63 is the new “FAL 2.0” JGODCall of Duty content creator JGOD has revealed his SMG-style Type 63 loadout that absolutely shreds in Warzone. The Type 63 may officially be categorized as a Tactical Rifle, but one of the most popular builds converts this deadly rifle into an SMG. Those familiar with the Cold War weapon will know just how potent it can be, but JGOD has taken the Type 63 to even greater heights. While it may not be a conventional secondary pick, this lethal loadout proves just how busted it can be. From a first glance, the Type 63 doesn’t appear to have a very fast fire rate. In fact, without the right attachments, it often gets outclassed by its full-auto competitors. However, when you utilize JGOD’s lightning-fast build, you’ll be downing enemy players before they can even react. JGOD’s Type 63 Warzone loadout Muzzle: Gru Silencer – Barrel: 16.4 Titanium – Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight – Stock: KGB Pad – Rear Grip: GRU Elastic Wrap – JGOD’sType 63 is built around enhancing the Type 63’s fire rate, making it an absolute monster in close-quarter scenarios. According to JGOD, this Type 63 loadout has a 22% Faster Rate of Fire when equipped with the 16.4” Titanium barrel, which gives it a whopping TTK of 432ms of up to 22m. Read More: Judge Dredd is coming to Warzone – The GRU Silencer also speeds up the gun’s bullet velocity, boosts damage range, adds vertical recoil control, and suppresses your shots. While you’ll predominantly be using this loadout in close quarters, the added damage range does help scenarios where you need the extra coverage. Next up is the Tiger Team Spotlight and KGB pad. Both attachments help bolster mobility, adding to your movement speed and sprint to fire time. This effectively allows you to aggressively rush down your foes, maintaining constant pressure until they fall. Of course, you can always switch the KGB Pad if you prefer to use an optic. JGOD recommends using the Quickdot LED as the optic gives you an unobstructed view, making it extremely easy to land those all-important head and body shots. Rounding things off the bottom of the list is the GRU Elastic Wrap. Having a quick ADS speed is imperative for any close-range gun, especially when you wish to remain competitive against the current MAC-10 and Bullfrog loadouts. If you use this lethal loadout, you’ll be sure to dominate the competition. Whether Raven Software will nerf the Type 63 remains to be seen, so be sure to use it while it’s still powerful.

JGOD claims Warzone Season 2 will be “another flop” if lingering issues aren’t fixed – Dexerto
JGOD claims Warzone Season 2 will be “another flop” if lingering issues aren’t fixed Activision / JGODWarzone Pacific has been plagued with bugs, issues, and hackers which has JGOD fuming that these will ruin Season 2 if they aren’t fixed immediately. Season 1 of Warzone Pacific has been an interesting one, to say the least. From cheaters raging about their broken hacks to cars being flown around Caldera, a lot has gone down. On top of that, the game has been nearly unplayable for console gamers as textures fail to load or the game gets stuck in a crashing loophole. This is why the devs announced Season 2 would be delayed, so the studio could have more time to look into the game’s problems. However, Warzone expert JGOD is irate as nothing has been changed and he thinks this next season could end up being a flop. JGOD worried Warzone Season 2 will fail In a YouTube video posted on February 7, JGOD turned the clock back and looked at some tweets from Call of Duty. He highlighted different issues in the game that have not been fixed. A message from CoD on January 11 promised to fix multiple issues for console players. That still hasn’t been resolved. Later on, he pulled up an ADS glitch from 2019 that is still occurring in today’s game. As he continued his rant, he mentions that the devs claimed to be working on solving these but haven’t. He believes this could be the downfall of the BR. “If this [all the issues] is not fixed it’s going to be a flop of a season.” JGOD does think Raven Software can still save the season but it would require a tall task. “They need to make sure this update fixes 99% of the current issues we have.” Season 2 is set to launch on February 14 so make sure to check back on our Call of Duty page for all the latest information.

JGOD claims Warzone “isn’t even close” to dying, but wishes it was – Dexerto
JGOD claims Warzone “isn’t even close” to dying, but wishes it was YouTube: JGOD / ActivisionA fierce debate over the state of Warzone continues to rage in the lead-up to Season 5, but while content creator ‘JGOD’ isn’t buying into the doom and gloom narrative, he argues that the game might be better off if it was on its last leg. Despite the imminent launch of Season 5, Warzone’s typical hype cycle has been largely replaced with an exodus of players and content creators as the game continues to struggle under the burden of a near-insurmountable number of cheaters. In the final weeks of Season 4, massive Warzone figures like Nicholas ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff and Timothy ‘TimTheTatMan’ Betar ditched the CoD battle royale for the less cheater-infested pastures of Apex Legends, cutting viewership for Activision’s BR on Twitch by tens of thousands. Even as many others followed suit, Warzone wizard JGOD revealed his plans to weather the storm and stick with the BR. Now, while arguing that Call of Duty’s battle royale isn’t really dying, he also revealed it might be better off in the long run if those claims were true. In his YouTube video, JGOD got right to the point: whether or not Warzone is, in fact, a dying game. “No, it’s not even close to dead,” he began, then put an unexpected spin on his response: “[But] I wish it was getting very close to [dying].” That statement was likely shocking to many of his fans, so he then clarified “there would be more urgency from Activision [if the game was dying],” referring to the publisher’s slow response to the rampant cheating issues that drove many other creators away. JGOD backed up his claim that Warzone isn’t dying by pointing out the massive number of casual players who never even run into cheaters because of skill-based matchmaking. “Most of the time, they don’t even [notice] cheaters,” he revealed. The YouTuber also shared what he believes could be Warzone’s true Achilles Heel: a lack of new content. “There’s a huge content drought when it comes to Warzone,” he continued, and clarified that “people are getting burnt out because it’s literally the same [content] over and over.” JGOD pointed to Fortnite and Apex Legends as two prime examples of how a BR can keep its player base engaged, and argued that their frequent map changes, free updates, and exciting in-game events offer much more to players than Warzone does. Despite those gripes, JGOD confirmed that he still enjoys hopping on the game daily. “I enjoy Warzone a lot,” the creator said, and reiterated that he has no plans to stop pumping out the brand of content that players have come to rely on. As he closed out the video, JGOD reiterated his feelings on the state of his choice BR: “I don’t think Warzone is even close to dead, [but] I wish it was closer so [Activision] could be more urgent [with fixing those issues].”

JGOD claims Warzone devs need to fix simple bugs before players quit – Dexerto
JGOD claims Warzone devs need to fix simple bugs before players quit Activision / JGODSeason 1 of Warzone Pacific set out to bring in an abundance of new players to the game. However, JGOD thinks people will stop playing if some issues aren’t resolved. On December 8, 2021, Warzone players were greeted with a new era to the battle royale, introducing a new map, over 40 weapons, and a battle pass. Despite all these new features, the game has been plagued with glitches and game-breaking bugs such as audio issues, and FPS problems. Warzone guru JGOD believes if the devs don’t get on this immediately, then people will leave and stop playing. JGOD thinks Warzone players will quit if issues aren’t fixed There will always be bugs in a video game but players are getting fed up with all the small things that keep adding up on Caldera. In a YouTube video, JGOD breaks down some of the biggest problems in Warzone, that if left unsolved, will cause the player base to diminish. Topic start at 3:49 One of the largest issues that have been around since the beginning of Caldera is the loud ambient noise on the map. Planes can be heard from miles away but sound like they are directly overhead. JGOD also brings up camo challenges and how that aspect of the game is still bugged and not tracking despite a month of the Vanguard ones being available. Another key aspect he mentions of a FOV slider for console players but that has been an issue for well over 18 months now. On top of that, there’s a glitch on next-gen consoles that locks players FPS at 60 when it should be 120. Nonetheless, JGOD thinks these are just some of the simple issues that make up a larger problem in Warzone and will drive people away.

JGOD claims Warzone 2 “failed” but explains how it could be saved – Dexerto
JGOD claims Warzone 2 “failed” but explains how it could be saved ActivisionWarzone 2 expert JGOD expressed his concerns over the game’s current state but is optimistic that the developers can still turn things around. The Season 2 update reinvigorated excitement for Warzone 2 but arguably swung the tides more for Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer. CharlieINTEL reported Modern Warfare 2 viewership surpassed Warzone 2 following the launch of Ranked Play. JGOD polled fans on social media for WZ2’s pros and cons and explained where the battle royale sequel went wrong. JGOD blasts the current state of Warzone 2 Warzone 2 expert JGOD weighed the game’s pros and cons and gave his opinion on the current state of affairs. “Realistically, I don’t think the game will be in a position where it is super fun and amazing daily for long periods of time, probably until Season 4 at the latest, or possibly season 3.” JGOD said he only plays Warzone 2 for about 45 minutes daily. He believes the game is performing far below expectations and doesn’t believe it’s a battle royale genre issue. The YouTuber pointed to the recent success of Apex Legends and Fortnite. “When you play Warzone 2, it does not play, feel, or function in any way recognizable as a Call of Duty. It feels like a battle royale game that happens to be a Call of Duty game.” JGOD began by listing out the pros of his experience playing WZ2. He mentioned both maps, proximity chat, buy station weapons, graphics, swimming, faster plating, console FOV, Gulag, and gunplay as pros. As for cons, he attributed a stale meta and lack of updates to hampering enjoyment. Players mostly used the RPK and Fennec for about four months, and JGOD doesn’t understand why it takes so long to nerf and buff weapons. He believes a majority of WZ2’s problems come down to slower gameplay, including decreased walking, sprint, menu, and zone speed. JGOD believes these issues slow down matches and bog down the experience. “I think that is the critical portion. That alone would solve about 90% of the issues because that is what you experience second to second.” Lastly, JGOD argued that one-shot sniping should be a gameplay feature only “if it’s a high-skill thing to use a sniper.” The YouTuber is discouraged by WZ2’s shortcomings but is optimistic that most issues will be resolved in either Season 3 or 4.

JGOD claims there is no reason to play Warzone with KBM instead of controller – Dexerto
JGOD claims there is no reason to play Warzone with KBM instead of controller JGODJGOD believes controller players have such a huge advantage in Warzone, that he doesn’t understand why anyone would ever use keyboard and mouse. Aim assist in Call of Duty has been a huge point of contention within the series’ community, especially within Warzone. After all, it’s here where players from all platforms get to flex their skills against one another. While both PC and console have their own unique advantages, there’s no denying how potent controller aim assist is. Not only does it have huge bonuses when it comes to movement, but being able to snap onto targets in an instant makes it even more powerful. It’s because of these reasons that JGOD believes controller is superior. JGOD on CoD controller aim assist “I think it’s easy for any controller player to kill any keyboard and mouse player,” explained JGOD. “That’s literally what aim assist is for. I don’t know why people play on keyboard and mouse in CoD. It’s like you’re just asking for frustrations with the game.” While no amount of aim assist will ever make up for poor game sense and bad decision-making, there’s no denying that it has clear advantages. This is mainly highlighted in close to mid-range firefights, which are the most common engagement distance in Warzone. “I would say if you’re really good on keyboard and mouse, you probably feel good. [But] you watch your killcam and always feel cheated, that’s just how it is because you know how hard it would be to do that with a keyboard and mouse.” Being able to effortlessly duck in and out of combat and run rings around your foes, while snapping onto them is so incredibly powerful, that JGOD believes keyboard and mouse players just don’t have a chance in the majority of firefights. “If I go and take 100 keyboard and mouse players and I take 100 controller players, and I put them head to head at random – the controller players would dominate the keyboard and mouse players on average in Warzone.” Whether any aim assist adjustments will be made when Warzone 2 releases remains to be seen, but for now, JGOD believes they have the best advantage.

JGOD claims only one Warzone SMG loadout “shines” after Season 4 nerfs – Dexerto
JGOD claims only one Warzone SMG loadout “shines” after Season 4 nerfs ActivisionOperator base health increased in Season 4, but JGOD explained why armor damage changes impact the Warzone short-range meta more. JGOD explained that up until Season 4, Warzone base operator health mirrored multiplayer. To counteract that, the battle royale featured exclusive armor damage profiles where weapons did different damage if an enemy wore armor. As soon as that armor breaks, the damage reverts back to the same as the multiplayer’s health system. But Warzone’s base operator health increasing by 50 in Season 4 muddies the waters. Fortunately, JGOD did all of the legwork and simplified how the short-range meta changed after Season 4. What is the best SMG in Warzone Season 4? JGOD used the Lachmann 556 as an example of how the new armor damage system works. The AR has a maximum armor damage value of 33 and a minimum value of 22. The Lachmann 556 used to have a maximum armor damage value of 42 but the update decreased that value by nine points, and this applies to most weapons in the game. Because weapons can now only deal a certain maximum amount of damage within 20-30 meters, it hurts SMGs more than assault rifles. “It’s not really impacting the TTK that much, but up close, SMGS got nerfed heavily, making it so that only the new SMG shines.” JGOD shared Warzone Season 4 time-to-kill stats, revealing that the ISO 45 blows away every other short-range option with a rapid 603-millisecond TTK. For players that still prefer the Lachmann Sub, JGOD understands but still believes that a faster TTK speed makes the ISO 45 superior. “The versatility of the Lachmann Sub allows you to down and thirst multiple people. Versus the ISO, you can get two downs and maybe a thirst.” Best ISO 45 Season 4 loadout Here is JGOD’s ISO 45 loadout with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: Spiral V3.5 Flash Hider (-0.29, +0.25) – Barrel: PTX Trainer (-0.26, +0.25) – Stock: Demo Fade Tac (-1.81, -1.55) – Rear Grip: EXP Shear (-0.58, -0.28) – Magazine: 45 Round Mag – JGOD isn’t particularly fond of the weapon’s iron sights, so he recommended removing the EXP Shear Rear Grip for a red dot scope if players experience similar frustrations. JGOD claims Modern Warfare 2 devs “completely lied” about gameplay – Dexerto
JGOD claims Modern Warfare 2 devs “completely lied” about gameplay Activision / JGODAfter dropping into the Modern Warfare 2 beta for the first time, CoD expert JGOD felt that Infinity Ward may have missold the game’s ability to cater for different playstyles. The Modern Warfare 2 beta is here, giving many players their first taste of what Infinity Ward has in store for them in the next CoD installment. As you’d expect, there have been plenty of hot takes surrounding the game, with some feeling that Modern Warfare 2 is close to being a solid entry, and others hitting out at changes to the gameplay formula. Call of Duty guru JGOD offered a fairly balanced view after getting his hands on the Modern Warfare 2 beta, but claimed the devs may have misled players when they said that multiple styles of play would be viable. In a recent upload to his channel, JGOD was discussing the booming audio created by enemy footsteps in Modern Warfare 2. He argued that this, along with some other design choices, encourages players to sit and camp. “Another thing I think they completely lied about, based on the stuff I just talked about, they said that they wanted to cater to different playstyles,” he said in the video. “You’ve got the rusher, the sentinel, and the flanker…I don’t really think they’ve done that. “Flanking is not all that great because you’re audible, [how] the UAVs work, you can’t get Ghost until your fourth Perk. They’ve really mitigated that, so the sentinal player that just stands still is at the biggest advantage.” He also argued that rushing around the map isn’t much of an option either, because players mounted behind cover can easily pick off enemies that are closing in before they have a chance to fire a single shot. JGOD acknowledged that certain players always like to remain stationary during multiplayer matches, but the YouTuber was concerned that the power has swung too far in their favor. “There’s always been campers in Call of Duty, but when you give them five different tools to be able to know that somebody’s coming up on them and they can just pre-aim — it gives them too big of an advantage,” he continued. In fact, JGOD believed that camping was so effective those who play that will easily rack up an impressive K/D in each game. “If you commit to that playstyle, you’ll go 12 and 1 every match. Get full sets of streaks, call those in, pretty high K/D — enjoy the game. Because if you run around you’re going to get double-digit deaths.” It wasn’t all doom and gloom, however, as the CoD expert praised Modern Warfare 2’s map design, and welcomed the new weapon progression system. Hopefully, Infinity Ward can make the most of the good decisions they’ve made by introducing some subtle tweaks to make the game more balanced by the time October 28 rolls around.

JGOD claims gyro aiming could be overpowered & remove recoil in Warzone 2 – Dexerto
JGOD claims gyro aiming could be overpowered & remove recoil in Warzone 2 ActivisionActivision quietly added gyro aiming to MW2 on PS5 and PS4, and CoD YouTuber JGOD believes it “could be pretty broken” in Warzone 2. Modern Warfare 2’s aim assist sparked heated debates between keyboard and controller users. One side is outraged with the amount of aim assist controller players have, while the other contends its an essential feature. Professional Warzone player Aydan believes aim assist gives console players an “unfair” advantage, while OpTic Gaming’s ‘Dashy‘ explained why nerfing aim assist could improve Call of Duty forever. If you want to take advantage of everything MW2 offers, make sure to check out our guide on the best controller settings. Possibly adding insult to injury, CoD expert JGOD discovered gyro aiming may make aiming even easier for controller users. What is gyro aiming? Gyro aiming is a control method that uses motion sensors in your device to help you aim. Essentially the feature allows you to aim in first-person shooter games by simply tilting the controller instead of using the traditional joy stick method. Activision added gyro aiming to Modern Warfare 2 as part of the Season 1 update. JGOD discussed how the feature works and why it could be overpowered. JGOD explains how to set up gyro aiming in Warzone 2 JGOD said that the feature pairs well with aim assist. Here are the settings he recommended. Go into controller settings – Move to the Advanced tab – Turn on target aim assist – Select Black Ops aim assist type – Choose ADS only Gyro Behavior – You are also able to adjust the sensitivity of the gyro movement. The premise is players tilt the controller down to deal with recoil as you would when using a keyboard and mouse. Gyro capability works in tandem with traditional aim assist, giving you an extra boost for locking onto opponents while using a controller. “It will remove the recoil to a certain extent because you can literally adjust where you are aiming to.” Using the new feature will require some mental gymnastics for veteran first-person shooter players, but it can be extremely useful for snapping onto enemies.

JGOD can’t believe more Modern Warfare 3 players aren’t using the tac-stance – Dexerto
JGOD can’t believe more Modern Warfare 3 players aren’t using the tac-stance ActivisionCall of Duty expert JGOD questioned why more players aren’t using the new tac-stance movement feature in Modern Warfare 3. At the top of several Modern Warfare 3 community wishlists was overhauling the game’s movement system. Sledgehammer Games delivered on several fronts to increase the pace of matches. Some examples include quicker mantling speeds, firing during and immediately and after sliding, and an increase in tactical sprint durations. MW3 also marked the return of slide canceling, a fan-favorite movement mechanic first introduced in MW2019. The initial excitement for slide canceling quickly soured as players discovered a “horrible” delay after the animation. Sledgehammer Games responded by promising slide timing changes for the beta’s second weekend. With all eyes on sliding and mantling, MW3’s new tac-stance feature has completely flown under the radar. JGOD explained why more players should consider learning how to utilize the versatile movement mechanic. Why more players should learn how to use tac-stance in Modern Warfare 3 Activision described tac-stance as a “perfect middle ground between hip-firing and aiming down sights.” Operators automatically fire in the tac-stance canted iron sight position while sliding. The awkward side-firing mechanic takes time to get used to, but it offers a much tighter bullet spread than hip-firing. The combination of tighter recoil and improved mobility and handling drew JGOD in. JGOD explained why players need to re-wire their brains to stop slide-cancel spamming. “Slide canceling doesn’t reset your tactical sprint, so there isn’t much reason to do it unless it’s deliberate.” Instead of canceling the slide, players can tac-stance during the slide animation to catch enemies off guard in a building or from around a corner. Tac-stance gets even more interesting when paired with an Infantry Vest and Tactical Pads. Infantry Vest increases tac sprint duration and reduces refresh time, while Tactical Pads increase slide duration and full ADS while sliding and improve stance transition speeds. JGOD concluded: “They added this new feature, and a lot of people don’t realize how good and how broken it is. I think there are still some issues with it that need tuning, but I would say once it gets finalized, it will be one of those movements that’s crazy.” It will be interesting to see how player perception evolves as they get more comfortable with the new Modern Warfare 3 movement mechanic.

JGOD calls Warzone aim assist “broken” after seeing wild controller clip – Dexerto
JGOD calls Warzone aim assist “broken” after seeing wild controller clip Twitter, @JGODYT / ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone mixes controller players with mouse and keyboard players, but aim assist is causing some divides. After seeing a clip of hands-free controller gameplay, JGOD agreed that aim assist needs to be reworked. Whether on PC or console, controller seems to be the best input for Warzone. That’s obvious from both the game’s monthly power rankings and its highest earners, the vast majority of which play on PC with controller. Aside from movement and comfort, a key reason has been aim assist — which helps controller players place their crosshairs appropriately. Mouse and keyboard players, by comparison, get no such help, but do have the ability to snap on enemies thanks to a larger range of motion. But the timeless aim assist debates have surged in Warzone recently, with MKB players claiming they need shotguns to compete and a new video showing how strong aim assist is. While JGOD has talked about aim assist before, this new clip takes the cake. Sadly even with clips like this, a lot of controller players live in denial. I know how broken aim assist generally is and Its what makes it so hard to full commit to KB&M when you cannot achieve the same results without years or practice. https://t.co/NxWhiZANnN — James – JGOD (@JGODYT) August 31, 2021 Arguably the most reputable Call of Duty content creator in the world, JGOD’s word is gospel for many. So it’s not insignificant when he claims that “a lot of controller players live in denial.” As the clip shows, you don’t need to have your thumb on the analog stick for aim assist to not only drag across the screen, but also provide micro adjustments. The video alone was enough for JGOD to note “how broken aim assist generally is.” In the past, arguments against aim assist have largely centered (pun intended) on how much of an advantage it provides against things like Smoke and Stun Grenades. While MKB players can’t do a thing while visually impaired, controller players can follow their crosshairs’ guidance. But this new video shows just how powerful the feature can be in all situations, as it seems to practically aim for the player. It remains unclear if Activision Blizzard will adjust how aim assist works in the future, but for now it’s most certainly a divisive topic. There may be no right answer to the question, but, with crossplay and tournaments seemingly here to stay, the arguments may keep coming.

JGOD calls out Warzone 2 players for “abusing” the reporting system – Dexerto
JGOD calls out Warzone 2 players for “abusing” the reporting system YouTube: JGODJGOD urges Call of Duty developers to address spam reporting, which has plagued Warzone 2 since its release. Activision ramped up its efforts to crack down on cheating in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. Leading up to the release of both titles, the devs promised “more protection” and “new mitigation” techniques for its Ricochet anti-cheat system. In April, promises were kept as a Ricochet update finally enabled the system to detect controllers using an external device, such as a Cronus Zen. The update also introduced a replay investigation tool to improve investigations into cheating and a few new mitigation techniques. However, not every new anti-cheating innovation went over smoothly with community members. JGOD slams spam reporting in Warzone 2 The developers placed more power into users’ hands by introducing a new in-game reporting system for cheating or offensive actions. Unfortunately, some community members abused the new system and falsely accused cheaters. Players received shadow bans on WZ2 and had their accounts locked despite not actually cheating. The problem even extended into Modern Warfare 2, preventing Call of Duty League pros from playing Ranked Play. JGOD has seen enough and called out community members for incorrectly banning users on Warzone 2. A WZ2 player claimed to ban 10 players just to test the new reporting system out. They also took credit for reporting a person for nothing and getting them kicked from the battle royale sequel. JGOD responded: “Spam reporting is still a problem since Warzone 2 came out, that is common knowledge despite them never acknowledging it.” The YouTuber added: “Doesn’t mean you should actively abuse it 10 times.” With the recent introduction of Warzone 2 Ranked Play, hopefully, shadow bans won’t impact players attempting to climb the Skill Division ranks.

JGOD calls for stim nerf in Warzone 2 after “crazy” clip goes viral – Dexerto
JGOD calls for stim nerf in Warzone 2 after “crazy” clip goes viral ActivisionA good Warzone 1 player used the gas to their advantage to pick up easy wins, and that strategy has emerged again in the battle royale sequel. Fifakill pulled off an outrageous gas play to win $100,000 in the 2022 World Series of Warzone event. He intentionally stayed in the gas for the entire final circle, using multiple stims and a PDS system to stay alive. Those types of miraculous feats are no longer possible in Warzone 2. Players can no longer use buy stations in the gas, there are fewer lootable stims to replenish health, and PDS systems are no longer a feature. However, one squad displayed their map knowledge and proved gas players are still possible in Warzone 2. The pair’s impressive showcase prompted some community members to call for a stim nerf. JGOD asks Warzone 2 devs for stim tuning WZ streamer Devious posted a highlight on Twitter of what he proclaimed “might be the most insane win in Warzone history.” The streamer survived for over two minutes in the gas as one of his teammates expertly called out locations of lootable stims. A combination of stims and gas masks helped the player survive. Devious never even needed to fire his weapon to secure the win. JGOD caught wind of the clip and tagged Raven Software in a post: “Might need more stim in gas tuning.” Some community members pushed back on JGOD’s issue with stims. One player argued that the issue is the gas itself instead of stims. “The problem is the gas tick. Ever since Verdansk, gas has done progressively more damage after 60 seconds in gas. That’s what they took away in Season 4.” A second user added: “There’s no issue with stims, just with how long you can spend in the gas.” Some fear a stim nerf would make gas plays too impossible. “I just fear they completely remove gas play from Warzone if they nerf stims directly and too hard.” It remains to be seen whether or not JGOD’s plea will reach the devs. For more, check out the rest of our Warzone coverage.

JGOD picks his best Warzone barrels for Black Ops Cold War ARs – Dexerto
JGOD picks his best Warzone barrels for Black Ops Cold War ARs YouTube, JGOD / ActivisionWarzone content creator JGOD is one of the community’s leaders when it comes to loadout customization guides. Breaking down the list of Black Ops Cold War ARs, he’s picked the Barrel attachment players should be using on each. Barrels are extremely important when it comes to assault rifles, as this attachment slot has one of the biggest impacts on recoil. The barrel influences the speed and the effective damage range that the weapon will have. In one of his latest videos, JGOD uses his meta build for all of these weapons as he tests two barrels for each one. Using head-to-head comparisons versus barrel four and barrel six, JGOD uses these numbers in the order that the attachment is unlocked. So, let’s dive into the list. JGOD’s best barrels for Cold War ARs Warzone is mostly dominated by the same weapons that are defined as the “meta” which in this case would include popular ARs like the Krig 6 and the C58. Here’s a look at the main meta Cold War assault rifles that are used and which Barrel attachment JGOD thinks is best. Krig 6 Barrel: 19.7″ Ranger Using this barrel is ideal for the Krig because its recoil is more defined. All players need to do is pull down and to the left for a couple of bullets. This also has more room for error over the other barrel and is a bit easier to control with the bullet velocity. C58 Barrel: 18.5″ Task Force The C58 has been one of Season Four’s top ARs and JGOD says to use the Task Force barrel even though they are almost similar. The YouTuber says this barrel feels better and is the main meta build for the C58. XM4 Barrel: 13.5″ Task Force As JGOD puts it, the Task Force barrel is “hands down the way to go.” There is no question here as the recoil and bullet velocity doesn’t come anywhere close to 13.7″ Extended as it does to the Task Force barrel. The spread mainly just goes up and takes a slight right so the main focus would be pulling down when using this loadout. FARA 83 Barrel: 18.7″ Spetsnaz RPK Barrel When using the FARA with the Spetsnaz RPK Barrel barrel it creates a tighter spread and is more uniform. This makes it easier to control and get those long-range kills. QBZ-83 Barrel: 15.5″ Task Force The QBZ is a newer weapon in the meta and isn’t as popular. JGOD has mentioned before that it is good for players with really precise aim. In this guide, he says to go with the Task Force Barrel but it doesn’t really matter because the difference is very minuscule. If you want more in-depth looks you can take a look at our full tier list and weapons guide for Warzone as of Season Four.

JGOD breaks down Warzone’s new long-range meta in Season 3 Reloaded – Dexerto
JGOD breaks down Warzone’s new long-range meta in Season 3 Reloaded JGOD/ActivisionThe Season 3 Reloaded update nerfed and buffed several long-ranged weapons and Warzone Youtuber JGOD broke down which weapons are the best to use at distance post-patch. JGOD did his own research and compiled data on which guns have the best time to kill after the Season 3 Reloaded update. The Youtuber then made a chart that ranked guns based on Rate of Fire, Damage per Magazine, Muzzle Velocity, Common Time to Kill, and whether or not their time to kill can be improved based on attachments or user skill. JGOD’s data is theoretical and hard to digest at face value, but after a quick breakdown, this is how it all shakes out for the new season. Best weapons for the new long-range meta In JGOD’s video released on May 31, He spends the first half discussing how he did his research and at the 6:45 mark, he goes over his preferred loadouts. He showed off loadouts for the RPD, Whitley, Cooper Carbine, Automaton, Vargo, XM4, BAR, and STG. Out of the 45 guns researched, these are the ones that stood out to the Youtuber on his quest. The “laser beam” Vargo 52 received high honors, and the Warzone guru encouraged everyone to give this loadout a chance. Warzone Vargo 52 loadout Muzzle: GRU Suppressor – Barrel: 18.6 ” Task Force – Optic: Axial Arms 3x – Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip – Magazine: Spetsnaz 60 RND – Vanguard’s Automaton also scored high marks for its high accuracy and ease of use. Automaton loadout Muzzle: MX Silencer – Barrel: ZAC 600m BFA – Optic: G16 2.5x – Stock: Anastasia Padded – Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop – Magazine: 6.5mm Sakura 75 RND – Ammunition: Lengthened – Rear Grip: Polymer Grip – Perk 1: Tight Grip – Perk 2: On-Hand – This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise as it’s been popular for most of Caldera’s existence, but the data suggests that it’s even more viable than the already-high pick rate might suggest. JGOD ranked the BAR and STG as the best guns to use right now in Warzone and the different loadout variations for both guns can be seen at the 11:20 timestamp. Give these loadouts a spin for yourself in long-range engagements on Caldera and Rebirth Island.

JGOD breaks down Scump’s wild $100k World Series of Warzone win – Dexerto
JGOD breaks down Scump’s wild $100k World Series of Warzone win Activision / CDL / JGODCall of Duty League pro Scump took home one of the greatest achievements of all time winning the $100k World Series of Warzone Solo Yolo Drop nad JGOD breaks down how he got it done. The World Series of Warzone featured a duos custom tournament followed by a winner-take-all solo game of Warzone. HusKerrs and Nebz took home the duos portion but that was just a warmup for Seth ‘Scump’ Abner as he prepared for the solo match. Not only did the King take home $100k, but he also led the lobby with 11 kills. Warzone guru JGOD took an in-depth look at each fight he got in on his path to victory. JGOD breaks down Scump’s historic Warzone win If you’re new to Warzone or looking for a more analytical breakdown of gameplay then JGOD has come through for you. In a Youtube video, he took a look at everything that went down in the historic solo game of Warzone and pulls up every single POV of an enemy Scump killed. He also pulled up the K/D, amount of kills, and wins each opponent had entering the event. According to JGOD, the lobby had an average K/D ratio of 3.72 which is extremely high and something you will likely never find in a normal match. JGOD praised Scump’s gameplay as he took down top Warzone players like Aydan and HusKerrs to get the win. The biggest thing he pointed out in his loadout is the use of the Restock perk. While he sacrificed running Ghost and could be seen on UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors, Restock allowed him to get his Stuns and Semtexs back to be able to counter the Riot Shield users in the lobby. JGOD also claimed that aim assist helped Scump as he was able to spot some players hiding in bushes. “When he’s in the bush he’s found because of aim assist. Controller gang wins it because it gives a little bit of positioning when somebody is in a bush and slows down,” he said, as he broke down Scump’s sixth kill. This was a historic event in Warzone and one that had most on the edge of their seat as the King took home the win and $100k in his pocket.

JGOD breaks down best Warzone loadout after Season 2 update – Dexerto
JGOD breaks down best Warzone loadout after Season 2 update YouTube: JGOD/ActivisionWarzone guru and YouTuber JGOD has revealed what he thinks is the best loadout for dominating matches after the Season 2 update. With Season 2 of Warzone adding another two weapons to the game in the KG M40 and the Whitley LMG, it’s harder than ever to customize a meta loadout with the countless guns available to choose from. While you can design a class setup to focus on either close-range or long-distance skirmishes, the best setups have versatility and allow players to compete in every possible encounter. As a result, it’s often better to let an expert do the thinking for you, that way you can jump into a match knowing you have an advantage over your opponents. Luckily, Warzone YouTuber JGOD has all the answers, and he’s even revealed the best loadout after the Season 2 update. JGOD’s LAPA & Bren Warzone loadout LAPA Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Barrel: 7.9″ Rifled – Optic: Microflex LED – Stock: Raider Stock – Magazine: STANAG 50 Rnd – Bren Muzzle: Mercury Silencer – Barrel: Queen’s 775m Scepter – Optic: SVT 40 PU Scope 3-6x – Stock: Hockenson SP28 – Underbarrel: m1941 Hand Stop – Magazine: 6.5 Sakura 40 Round Mag – Ammo Type: Lengthened – Rear Grip: Polymer Grip – Perk: Tight Grip – Perk1: On-Hand – Perks E.O.D – Overkill – Amped – For starters, JGOD has picked out the LAPA SMG for his close-range weapon in the loadout. This gun absolutely shreds enemies at close range and provides an unrivaled amount of mobility, making it perfect for aggressively chasing down squads. While the poor ironsight on the weapon means the Microflex LED attachment is required, it’s still a top-tier SMG that can rival the incredibly popular MP40. Of course, although the LAPA is strong, it can’t compete at long-range and that’s where the Bren comes into play. This hefty LMG makes it easy to beam down opponents from afar, especially with the SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x equipped. The Bren currently sits as the fifth most picked weapon in Warzone so it makes sense that JGOD has given a spot in his best setup for Season 2. Despite being hit with nerfs, the gun is still a force to be reckoned with, so make the most of it while it’s still powerful as more changes are likely on their way. Finally, JGOD rounds off the loadout with the standard meta perks that will protect you from explosive damage and allow you to swap weapons quicker so you always get the first shot off in a gunfight. That rounds off JGOD’s best Warzone loadout following the Season 2 Reloaded update, don’t forget to tweak the builds to your preference if any attachments don’t fit your playstyle.

JGOD breaks down best Warzone loadout after Season 1 Reloaded update – Dexerto
JGOD breaks down best Warzone loadout after Season 1 Reloaded update Treyarch/Activision/JGODWarzone guru and YouTuber JGOD has revealed what he thinks is the best “meta” loadout for dominating matches after the Season 1 Reloaded update. With so many weapons available to customize in Warzone, it can be difficult to build a meta setup that gives you an advantage over your opponents. Especially now the Vanguard integration has gone live, there are more attachments than ever before to choose from, so it’s easy to get overwhelmed while creating a class. As a result, it’s often a better idea to let a Warzone guru do the thinking for you, that way you can jump into your matches and start dominating right away. Luckily, Warzone YouTuber JGOD has all the answers, and he’s even revealed the best “meta” loadout after the Season 1 Reloaded update. JGOD’s MP40 & Bren Warzone loadout MP40 Muzzle: Recoil Booster – Barrel: Krausnick 317mm 04B – Optic: Slate Reflector – Stock: Krausnick 33M Folding – Underbarrel: Mark VI Skeletal – Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 45 Round Mag – Ammo Type: Incendiary – Rear Grip: Polymer Grip – Perk: Unmarked – Perk1: Quick – Bren Muzzle: Mercury Silencer – Barrel: Queen’s 705mm Royal – Optic: SVT 40 PU Scope 3-6x – Stock: Queen’s Model 11 BH – Underbarrel: m1941 Hand Stop – Magazine: 6.5 Sakura 40 Round Mag – Ammo Type: Lengthened – Rear Grip: Polymer Grip – Perk: Tight Grip – Perk1: On-Hand – Perks E.O.D – Overkill – Amped – For starters, JGOD’s “meta” Warzone loadout includes the MP40 in the first weapon slot. This pint-sized SMG packs-a-punch at close-range and is currently the most picked gun in the entire game, so it makes sense that it has made an appearance here. Kitted out with attachments that maximize the weapon’s overall damage output and mobility, it’s the perfect gun for pushing an enemy squad aggressively or clearing a building filled with campers. Of course, the MP40 does have a limited range, so JGOD has accounted for that with the second gun in his loadout. In the next slot, JGOD has chosen the Bren LMG and this hefty weapon is designed to take out opponents at medium to long-range. Having this in your back pocket gives this loadout a huge amount of versatility, and will make you a force to be reckoned with against any squad. With the attachments all bolstering the Bren’s recoil and pushing its damage to the limit, it’s safe to say any enemy on the receiving end is going to be taken out in an instant That rounds off JGOD’s best Warzone loadout following the Season 1 Reloaded update, don’t forget to tweak the builds to your preference if any attachments don’t fit your playstyle.

JGOD & Brazilian Warzone stars explain how JAK-12 can replace nerfed Gallo – Dexerto
JGOD & Brazilian Warzone stars explain how JAK-12 can replace nerfed Gallo Wikimedia Commons / ActivisionAfter Call of Duty: Warzone’s September 23 patch nerfed the controversial Gallo SA12 shotgun, JGOD and some of Brazil’s biggest streamers think a deadly JAK-12 loadout might be the new meta. The Warzone meta has been particularly diverse over the past few months, with the secondary options being especially mixed. After the popular OTs 9 got nerfed for a second time on September 15, many turned to the Gallo shotgun (and some, to the Bullfrog). But, in a surprise September 23 patch, the Bullfrog and the Gallo also got nerfed — leaving many wondering where the secondary meta will land next. The Gallo had become incredibly popular recently, with some tournaments even banning the gun because of its nasty damage output. With multiple nerfs to its range, JGOD and Brazilian Warzone stars TonyBoy and Sn4rFx are focusing on the JAK-12 as the new close-range killer. New Warzone JAK-12 loadout after Gallo nerfs For those who don’t know, Brazil’s Warzone scene has been much more proactive about weapon and item bans in custom tournaments for months now. Since they’ve already banned the Gallo in their tourneys, it’s no surprise that TonyBoy was immediately ready with a new JAK-12 loadout once it got nerfed. Brazilian JAK-12 loadout Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor – Barrel: ZLR J-2800 Influx – Laser: 5mW Laser – Rear Grip: Rubberized Grip Tape – Perk: Sleight of Hand – Since I’m not fluent in Portuguese, the Rubberized Grip Tape is basically a guess based on how it looks (Google translates it to… dotted sticky tape). But, you get the gist of this gun. It’s heavy, easy to handle, and the Sleight of Hand helps make up for some mobility downgrades. Vai mudar nada esse nerf, ate 3.5 metros continua dominante, os newba vai continuar ficar bugando escada, e no maximo vao lançar uma jak 12 pra suprir o dano de longa. https://t.co/9rsZWVOTMr — Sn4rFx (@Sn4rFx) September 23, 2021 Fellow Brazilian, Sn4rFx, was a little less certain of the JAK-12’s place in the meta — noting that the Gallo is still the strongest up to 3.5 meters. But he also mentioned that the JAK is the go-to if people want extra damage range. JGOD, on the other hand, mentioned the guns briefly during his reaction video to the new patch: “We’ll find out if the Gallo is still broken or nerfed to the ground, and then people will maybe switch to the JAK-12 which is just as broken, but doesn’t have the mobility.” As it stands, the Gallo’s still expected to be a nightmare up close, but, if you can withstand a mobility downgrade, it looks like the JAK might now be the best shotgun in Verdansk.

JGOD blasts Warzone devs for going on vacation while game is completely “broken” – Dexerto
JGOD blasts Warzone devs for going on vacation while game is completely “broken” Activision / JGODWarzone guru JGOD slammed devs for taking a vacation during the holidays and leaving the battle royale completely broken. Season 1 of Warzone Pacific was released on December 8 which saw a brand-new era for the BR. This brought Vanguard integration, a new map, over 40 weapons, and unfortunately many issues. Warzone guru JGOD has been very outspoken on these problems and finds it unacceptable that the dev team took vacation time while the game is in a poor state. JGOD disappointed with Warzone devs over game’s state In a YouTube video, Warzone expert JGOD talked about the problems that are still lingering in the Pacific update. This includes the enormous amount of game-breaking bugs like buy stations not working, pay-to-win exploits, and more. These glitches have been in the game for so long because Raven Software announced they would be going on holiday vacation. However, this has been a disaster for players. JGOD said, “It’s unacceptable for a triple-A studio to allow these types of issues… You can’t leave your game broken for a month, you’re going to lose a lot of players.” Another point he brought up is the tier 100 battle pass skin for Warzone which is giving players a massive competitive advantage in matches. “How is that even allowed, where if you are beyond 30 meters you go invisible,” He added, also speaking about audio issues, camo challenges that haven’t been working, Krampus running matches, and more. JGOD feels that all of these issues should have been addressed immediately instead of going on “vacation.” While these issues still run rampant in Caldera, he remains hopeful that when this break is over the devs will resolve these problems and bring joy back to the players.

JGOD blames Warzone’s Caldera for Rebirth Island’s biggest problem Activision / JGODThe Warzone community has clocked a shift in Rebirth Island’s gameplay and Detective James ‘JGOD’ Godoy has the answers as to how it all came about. When there’s a mystery growing in the Call of Duty scene there are few people better suited to solve it than JGOD and his most recent investigation does not disappoint. The BR guru has listened to the community’s complaints about Rebirth Island’s sudden pacing issues and he has a theory that could explain it all away. JGOD explains how Caldera’s health change is affecting Rebirth The root of the problem lies in Season 2 Reloaded’s health update that only applies to Caldera. JGOD believes that the 100HP to 150HP buff on the bigger map has caused the more cautious and opportunistic players to seek out the quick time-to-kill of Rebirth Island. As he points out, a change in base health means that accurate players have more time to respond, creating a huge skill gap: “It’s going to favor better players. People who can aim and shoot straight… not necessarily the average to below-average players.” This results in an influx of new players to Rebirth who may not be accustomed to the high-octane gameplay of the mode, so it’s more likely to find them bunched together and playing it as if they were still on Caldera. For players who have been grinding Rebirth for months though, this means the game has seemingly slowed down around them and created a major shift in feeling. While things may even out as players become accustomed to both modes, it’s worth keeping an eye out on the Warzone Trello board for an update on Rebirth Island’s health as well.

JAK Protean conversion kit two-shot kills in MW3 but comes with a catch – Dexerto
JAK Protean conversion kit two-shot kills in MW3 but comes with a catch DexertoModern Warfare 3’s latest conversion kit, the JAK Protean, adds to a growing list of powerful weapon transformations that dominate multiplayer and Warzone. If players complete Season 5 week four challenges, they unlock the JAK Protean conversion kit, which increases the firing rate of the otherwise slow-firing RAAL MG. However, Warzone Meta discovered that the attachment can one-shot kill headshots and two-shot kill enemies anywhere to the body while using semi-auto mode in MW3. To change a weapon’s fire mode, players must press left on the D-pad on Xbox and PlayStation. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about this conversion kit’s success in Warzone. The JAK Protean is only a four-shot kill in semi-auto mode, and that goes down to three with a headshot. As a result, the time-to-kill speeds fall far short of other meta-long-range options. Despite its shortcomings in battle royale matches, the JAK Protean shreds in multiplayer and deserves consideration. Best JAK Protean loadout in MW3 Muzzle: Quartermaster Suppressor – Ammunition: .338 Mag High Velocity – Optic: Corio Eaglesye 2.5x – Magazine: 100 Round Belt Mag – Conversion Kit: JAK Protean – Season 5 introduced the Quartermaster Suppressor, and players have argued that it is currently the best muzzle option. The Quartermaster Suppressor improves gun kick and horizontal and vertical recoil. Players have gravitated toward this attachment because it only nerfs ADS and sprint-to-fire speeds by six percent, while other muzzles have a harsher movement penalty, and it’s the best choice for the RAAL MG. Next up, .338 Mag High Velocity increases bullet velocity, which will be useful for a slower-firing semi-auto loadout. In addition, having a 100 Round Belt Mag means players won’t have to worry about reloading too much. And while the conversion kit comes with a built-in telescopic scope, we believe the Corio Eaglesye 2.5x provides the best sightline for short to medium-range engagements. Players should use this loadout while they have a chance, as Sledgehammer Games has regularly nerfed conversion kits shortly after becoming popular. On Aug. 6, the JAK Cataclysm conversion kit got heavily nerfed one week after getting introduced, since it easily two-shot killed enemies in Warzone.

JAK Outlaw-277 & Longbow nerfed in MW3 & Warzone: Full March 22 patch notes – Dexerto
JAK Outlaw-277 & Longbow nerfed in MW3 & Warzone: Full March 22 patch notes ActivisionSledgehammer Games dropped a small patch on March 22 to nerf the 1-shot-kill weapons JAK Outlaw-277 and the Longbow in MW3 and Warzone. Call of Duty players have been calling for nerfs to the new Aftermarket Part, the JAK Outlaw-277 kit for days, and those calls increased after the developers released a patch that they said didn’t do much to its power. Sledgehammer has heard the community’s outcry and put out another update that addresses the Part’s power, and another one-shot-kill weapon. In the notes, the developer admitted the JAK was overpowered but that they want to keep its “run-and-gun marksman playstyle.” For the Longbow, the update made its controller aim assist better resemble the other weapons in the Sniper Rifle class, and increase its flinch. The changes will hit Warzone and Modern Warfare 3, with just a few slight number differences. JAK Cataclysm set to take over Warzone as conversion kit downs enemies in two shots – Dexerto
JAK Cataclysm set to take over Warzone as conversion kit downs enemies in two shots DexertoWith the JAK Cataclysm equipped, the RPK transforms into a .50 cal rifle capable of downing enemies in two shots, making it one of the best conversion kits in Warzone. When Season 4 started on May 29, Sledgehammer Games re-introduced the iconic Kar98K. The marksman rifle instantly became the best weapon in Warzone, shredding through enemies with two shots to any body part. As part of the July 2 update, the Kar98k’s damage modifiers were nerfed, meaning the marksman rifle can now kill extremities with three shots instead of two. Players celebrated the change as it opened the door for other long-range weapons. That’s where the JAK Cataclysm conversion kit comes in. With one headshot mixed in, the conversion kit downs enemies in two shots and is poised to become one of the most used sniper rifles to rival the Kar98k. Best JAK Cataclysm loadout in Warzone Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor L – Laser: SL Razorhawk Laser – Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x – Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip – Conversion Kit: JAK Cataclysm – Our loadout focuses on improving mobility without losing the signature firepower that makes this weapon special. To start, the Sonic Suppressor L muzzle improves bullet velocity and damage range. Next, the SL Razorhawk Laser gives massive boosts to aim walking steadiness, sprint to fire, and aim down sight speeds. As a tradeoff, the green laser is always visible to enemies. However, that won’t be an issue when you down an enemy before they know what hit them. Along the same lines, the True-Tac Grip also helps aid sprint to fire and aim down-sight speeds. We recommend using the Corio Eagleseye 2.5x as it provides the cleanest line of sight and a versatile optic, best suited for medium to long-range gunfights. Burning one of your five attachments on a conversion kit is annoying, but this devastatingly powerful transformation makes up for that sacrifice. if this JAK Cataclysm doesn’t live up to expectations, or you need a weapon to pair the rifle with, check out our guide on the best Warzone loadouts in Season 5.

JackFrags shows how “maximum aim assist” on PC Warzone is a huge advantage vs console – Dexerto
JackFrags shows how “maximum aim assist” on PC Warzone is a huge advantage vs console ActivisionPopular YouTuber JackFrags says Warzone players on PC have an even bigger advantage over console players than he first thought, especially if they plug in a controller. The age-old debate about PC vs console has continued to rage thanks to the rise of Warzone and its cross-platform lobbies. Both sides have scored blows in the everlasting war, but when it comes to Warzone, PC players have some serious advantages, as YouTuber JackFrags has pointed out before. They can tweak graphics settings to get a better look at things, and even take advantage of console-esque aim assist by using a controller. However, those advantages might be bigger than first thought. JackFrags, who has been using a controller in PC games for the last few games, revisited the topic and suggested that the advantage is greater than even he first uncovered thanks to the Xbox Elite controllers. The elite controller is configured in a way where the additional bumpers on the back of the pad are mapped for jumping and crouching, so you can continue to move while shooting pretty well. Given that Warzone’s aim assist isn’t snap-on, but more attracts to a target like a magnet when moving, this then allows you to get an advantage. As Jack shows, even when strafing, if an enemy is jumping up and down, the aim assist adjusts to work more vertically, thus letting you be more accurate. As he points out, it does take plenty of practice to master, especially if you’re ditching keyboard and mouse after such a long time using them. Additionally, the British YouTuber notes that it must be a nightmare for Raven Software and Infinity Ward to balance, but some changes could be made going forward. Will this spark a wider move to PC players using a controller in Warzone? Maybe not, but the results are rather interesting and could certainly make some change things up.

Jackfrags shows biggest Warzone advantages on PC vs console players – Dexerto
Jackfrags shows biggest Warzone advantages on PC vs console players ActivisionPopular YouTuber Jack ‘Jackfrags’ Mason showed off the biggest advantages to playing Warzone on a PC vs a console, explaining that the battle royale’s developers might need to make some significant changes. The PC vs console argument has been raging for quite some time, with both sides having their own advantages over the other. In the last few years, barriers between the two have started to be broken down with the advent of cross-platform play in certain multiplayer games. That includes Warzone where both sides have clashed and aired their frustrations with the other. For PC players, the main complaint revolves around aim assist, while console players would like to have a Field of View option to match PC. However, as Jackfrags shows, there are a few more advantages on PC. In his March 14 video, the popular YouTuber showcased some of the biggest advantages that PC players have, with one of his main points revolving around NVIDIA sliders. If a PC has an NVIDIA card in, it can use these sliders to alter the look of the game pretty significantly. As a result, the dastardly Roze skin that has annoyed players on both sides, becomes pretty easy to see if you fiddle with the settings. Similarly, the lack of an FOV slider on console means that you can’t see enemies in your peripheral vision, whereas you can on PC. “When you can alter the look of the game so much on PC, and make those skins stand out, it does raise a few eyebrows and you think, well, is it really that fair?” the YouTuber said, noting that further NVIDIA tools are coming in the future. Now, while the answer for some console players might be to turn the cross-play setting off, that causes issues too. Lobbies are harder to populate, and that can become a pretty big annoyance. That doesn’t solve the audio disadvantage either. Jack adds that PC players use headsets vs most console players using TV speakers, meaning some sounds get lost. Though, some console players do use headsets, PC is a bit clearer. In terms of fixing some of the issues, the YouTuber says that lays with the Warzone developers, especially when it comes to in-game cosmetics like the Roze skin. They’re the ones who design and put them out there. Whether changes will come later down the line remains to be seen, but as Jackfrags says, PC has a pretty big leg up on console right now.

JackFrags says most “broken thing” in Warzone 2 is not actually a weapon – Dexerto
JackFrags says most “broken thing” in Warzone 2 is not actually a weapon ActivisionJackFrags and WillfromWork showed just why more players should be using the LTV in Warzone 2. In Warzone 1, players used Cargo Trucks to rotate into better positions and even run over enemies. The meta got so out of hand some final circles only featured players in vehicles. Activision nerfed vehicles in Warzone 2 by introducing a fuel system, forcing players to refuel at gas stations. The developers also introduced Drill Charges, a lethal equipment item designed to immobilize vehicles. Despite actions being taken to cut down on the effectiveness of vehicles, YouTubers JackFrags and WillfromWork explained why the LTV is “broken.” JackFrags explains why the LTV is “broken” Warzone 2 added the LTV as a new vehicle. The heavily armored truck is not only extremely fast but also lasts over four minutes on one tank of gas and provides plenty of protection. JackFrags and WillfromWork put on a show with the LTV in two battle royale matches. “I think we found our favorite thing to do. We made a tank, WillfromWork claimed.” Will drove as Jack shredded through enemies while standing on the roof with a TAQ-56 and Signal 50. The LTV allowed the duo to fly around Al Mazrah with little fear of being stopped. The pair failed to win their first match using the “tank,” but for round two, Jack used the LTV to chase down the final team and got out to secure the win. After the win, Will said that their win “once again that the LTV is meta.” Jack agreed and claimed that the LTV is “the best thing in the game.” If you are worried about getting taken out while driving, putting a Trophy System on top of the LTV prevents any throwables from destroying the vehicle.

Jackfrags praises “addictive” Modern Warfare 2 Gunfight mode – Dexerto
Jackfrags praises “addictive” Modern Warfare 2 Gunfight mode Infinity WardInfinity Ward brought back Gunfight for Modern Warfare 2, and Jackfrags can’t get enough of the fan-favorite game mode. Fans have been waiting for Gunfight since the launch of MW2, and Season 3 finally re-introduced the intense 2v2 matches. Unfortunately, the developers made a few changes from its original iteration in MW2019, and some players blamed “horrible” maps and lasers for ruining their experience. Gunfight only launched with four maps, failing to impress community members. A few of the pre-built loadouts also feature lasers, resulting in some users complaining that the bright lasers give their location away too easily. Despite mixed reviews, Jackfrags has had a blast playing Gunfight and urged other players to give it a chance. Jackfrags gives high praise to Modern Warfare 2 Gunfight Jackfrags recently had some of the most fun he has had on MW2, playing party modes, such as One in The Chamber and Gunfight, for the first time. He experienced similar joy introducing his friend and fellow YouTuber, WillfromWork, to Gunfight. The YouTuber spent plenty of time playing Gunfight in MW 2019 and claimed the game mode is his favorite in the series. “I think that Gunfight is the best thing that has come from Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2,” he said. “I could play this for hours and hours and never get bored of it.” The duo won three straight games, and neither player wanted to stop after seeing what the game mode has to offer. Will credits the game mode’s fast pace action and intensity for gripping his interest. Jack agreed and can’t wait to revisit it again soon. “Gunfight is very addictive, and I can’t stop playing it.” Gunfight is currently available as a playlist in MW2 multiplayer.

Jackfrags explains why he loves Modern Warfare 2’s new party modes – Dexerto
Jackfrags explains why he loves Modern Warfare 2’s new party modes ActivisionJackfrags discovered a new way to enjoy Modern Warfare 2, made possible by the Season 2 Reloaded update. Season 2 Reloaded started on March 16, and multiplayer fans finally received the content injection they had begged for. MW2 received its first new original 6v6 map, Himmelmatt Expo, and a new marksman rifle to shred through enemies. A new map and weapon stole the show, but an underrated addition throughout Season 2 is the introduction of new game modes. Infinity Ward embraced MW2’s casual nature by re-introducing class party game modes. Gun Game, Infected, and Grind were added at the start of the season. The mid-season update added Drop Zone, All or Nothing, and One in the Chamber. The developers released a dedicated party mode playlist, and Jackfrags had some of the most fun he has had on MW2. Jackfrags praises Modern Warfare 2 party modes On March 16, Jackfrags tested out Modern Warfare 2’s new party mode playlist. He played one round of One in the Chamber, All or Nothing, Infected, and Gun Game. With little previous experience with party game modes, Jack was taken aback by how much he enjoyed them. “I realized something. As I have gotten older, my relationship with games has changed. I used to care what my KD was, but nowadays I couldn’t care less, so I just want to enjoy the game I like playing.” Party game modes provide the perfect casual experience for players looking for a change of pace from MW2’s prototypical “sweaty” gameplay. Jack started things off with One in the Chamber. Each player spawns with a Desert Eagle and one bullet. Each kill awards another bullet, but a miss means you must use a knife instead. The YouTuber put up a flawless 10-0 performance and claimed, “I love this game mode, it’s so good.” Next up, All or Nothing presented a much different challenge. The game mode is a free-for-all race to 20 kills. Players begin the match with a throwing knife and an empty pistol. Getting kills enables the Specialist perk, which allows you to pick up ammo from fallen players. Dying resets the Specialist streak. Jack finished up his session with a match of Infected and Gun Game. Infected is multiplayer’s spin on zombies, and Gun Game is a race to cycle through multiple weapons. “I had a blast playing this today, guys, this is a great playlist. You don’t have to worry about sweating too much with some silly game modes.” “That is when gaming is at its best.” Infinity Ward resets weekly playlists, so try out the party game playlist while you can.

JackFrags “convinced” Warzone 2 damage is hugely bugged after inexplicable deaths – Dexerto
JackFrags “convinced” Warzone 2 damage is hugely bugged after inexplicable deaths ActivisionCoD content creator JackFrags has explained why he’s “convinced” there are major issues with weapon damage in Warzone 2.0, sharing his investigation in a December 9 YouTube video. Warzone 2.0 has got off to a strong if imperfect start. Issues surrounding crashing bugs and complaints over time-to-kill have been mitigated by an appreciation of the new Al Mazrah map. However, some anecdotal evidence has pointed towards inconsistencies with weapon damage. Specifically, he pointed to the fact that snipers unanimously cannot one-hit. Some players, though, have reported being knocked instantly by enemy snipers. This was at the centre of the YouTuber’s investigation after he was killed inexplicably quickly by random opponents. YouTuber uncovers inconsistent and “bugged” damage in Warzone 2.0 Explaining that his investigation is “observational” rather than exhaustive, Jack did say that his findings have led him to be “more convinced” that there are major problems with weapon damage in WZ2. Specifically, he shared a clip of him being dropped in one-hit by an opponent using the Victus XMR sniper. Dropping into lobbies with a friend and using three different Victus builds – all of which were tuned for max damage, found that there is no loadout that can drop enemies in one hit. As a result, it’s not clear how the enemy managed to knock Jack in a previous match. Similar inconsistencies were found with melee damage. An enemy knocked Jack successfully in two melee hits, despite not having the necessary attachments equipped to increase melee damage. He summarized: “Inconsistency is the key word here – because it leads to surprising and frustrating gameplay experiences for the playerbase when the time-to-kill and time-to-death feels like it varies so much from match to match.” The most obvious cause is indeed a bugged damage system, but Jack explained that he does not have enough evidence or stats to determine the issue specifically. At the time of writing, Infinity Ward have not responded to the issues. Now they’re out in the open, though, players will want an explanation.

It’s possible to drop in with 200HP in Blackout with this bug – Dexerto
It’s possible to drop in with 200HP in Blackout with this bug A bug with the Trauma Kit allows players to drop into the Blackout map with 200HP, 50 more than the standard, and is ridiculously easy to do. Although it will likely be fixed soon, as Treyarch has been keeping a keen eye on various gameplay issues and bugs since release, it is still nuisance for now. It is far from game breaking, as you Trauma Kits, while rare, are often found upon landing, but with this bug you will almost certainly enter your first engagement with the advantage. By simply finding a Trauma Kit in the staging area, and using it immediately, you will find that when you jump out of the helicopter, you retain the extra 50 health points granted by the Trauma Kit. Streamer emmkim managed to perform the bug, and may not have even noticed he had done so, but if you look at his health bar in the bottom left, you will see he has kept the Trauma Kit’s benefit. It’s unclear if you must time the use of the Trauma Kit with the loading of the game, as emmkim does, or if it can be done at any point during the 30 seconds typically spent in the staging area. There is also another, more common, bug with the Trauma Kit, where it will simply have no effect at all when used mid game. As aforementioned, Treyarch have been keeping a keen eye on all the bugs and gameplay problems across multiplayer, Zombies and Blackout in Black Ops 4, so expect these Trauma Kit issues to be fixed soon.

It’s possible to carry 3 weapons in Call of Duty Blackout beta, thanks to a strange glitch – Dexerto
It’s possible to carry 3 weapons in Call of Duty Blackout beta, thanks to a strange glitch TreyarchYouTuber ‘TGG DJTHONE’ uploaded a video where he discovered a means to add a third weapon to his inventory in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout beta. In the video, the YouTuber revived a teammate, who had fallen over a weapons spawn. He then navigated to his inventory to discover that he’d picked up an ICR-7. “Erm… I’ve picked up an ICR in my inventory,” he said, laughing. Initially unsure as to how he had managed it. In total, the player had a Koshka, the ICR-7, and a Mozu pistol to choose from. His teammate suspected that Treyarch had changed the game’s inventory system, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Players may still only carry a maximum amount of two weapons at a time – without the glitch. Read More: Complete Blackout map guide: everything you need to know about the battle royale map in Black Ops 4 – The YouTuber explained in the video’s description that the bug only appears to occur when players revive a teammate over weapons spawns. While the probability of such an instance could be highly unlikely in the wild, those looking to give the glitch a test drive could down a teammate through friendly fire over a spawn (provided the other party agrees to the test, of course). Blackout is currently rife with glitches. Multiple oddities have been recorded in the battle royale title, from players getting killed by their own escort helicopters while dropping into the map to allowing them to get underneath the map itself. However, Treyarch have been quick to make numerous changes already, with multiplay updates almost daily addressing bugs. The game is still in its beta phase, which is ending very soon. The Blackout beta will come to a close for all platforms on September 17, at 1 PM ET. Better get in those games while you can – and test out any glitches you find, too.

Italian and German Call of Duty Teams to Miss Out on Last Chance Qualifier – Dexerto
Italian and German Call of Duty Teams to Miss Out on Last Chance Qualifier Two European teams are facing last minute issues ahead of the CWL Last Chance Qualifier and will be unable to attend the event. Italian team iDomina and an unrepresented German side are vacating their spots in the qualification tournament for the Call of Duty Championships. Iviano, Genesis, Phantom and SteLios won the German National Circuit to qualify for the LCQ, but one of the players received an unexpected opportunity to go back to university. The player will be returning to school instead of attending the qualifier, leaving the squad unable to field four players. The German team received a fully funded trip to the LCQ as a result of their National Circuit victory, but were still looking for an organization to represent them for the event. German CoD fans may have lost their LCQ representative team, but the international mixed roster of Black Forest Games features a German player in Sharko. Black Forest qualified for the event through pro points. Italian team iDomina will also be forced to miss the LCQ after running into visa issues with their players. iDomina won the Italian National Circuit without dropping a single map, going 6-0 with an 18-0 map count in Stage 4. They picked up two 3-0 sweeps in the playoffs to win their trip to the LCQ. It is not known how many players are facing visa issues in the Italian side, but interestingly enough, the German player going back to school would like to see a travel eligible Italian take his place. Isit all of you that can’t attend or only 1 person having this visa issue? — Jian (@IvianoJC) July 21, 2018 Surely they can arrange someone from the Italian team to pick up for the German team ? — Jian (@IvianoJC) July 21, 2018 With the LCQ happening on July 24, it is unlikely roster swaps or travel arrangements for new teams can be completed in time. MLG and the CWL have not commented on bracket changes that may happen due to 30 teams competing instead of 32.

ISO Hemlock falls off as Warzone 2’s most used gun again as Ranked meta changes – Dexerto
ISO Hemlock falls off as Warzone 2’s most used gun again as Ranked meta changes ActivisionThe ISO Hemlock, the assault rifle that had been running things in Warzone 2 for a while again, has been dethroned as the battle royale’s go-to weapon yet again. Over the last few months, the meta in Warzone 2 has undergone a fair few changes. The devs have been rolling out a number of buffs and nerfs alongside seasonal updates, while also bringing one-shot snipers back into the fold. The ISO Hemlock, which was introduced back in Season 2, had been dominating the game throughout that same season. Though, a nerf during the start of Season 3 saw the assault rifle being knocked off its perch by the Kastov 762. That didn’t last too long, with the Hemlock jumping back up to top spot shortly after the Season 3 Reloaded update. Though, the AR is back on its way down once again as it’s fallen off the top spot. ISO Hemlock replaced by Cronen Squall as Warzone 2’s most-used gun That’s according to stats from WZRanked, which tracks the popularity of weapons and items in Warzone 2, which noticed the Hemlock’s downfall. The AR had previously been pretty comfortable on top spot, but as of May 31, its fallen down to second place behind the Cronen Squall. The Squall has a pick rate of 18%, beating the Hemlock’s 15.2%. It’s interesting to note that the Hemlock’s slide doesn’t appear to be over either. The third-placed Lachmann Sub has a pick rate of 13.6% and is picking up more steam than the Hemlock. So, it shouldn’t be too long before it drops even further. The Cronen’s rise is likely to do with the attention it has been getting in Warzone Ranked, as it has become the go-to weapon for top-level players. It remains to be seen if the Cronen can hold off the surge from the Lachmann Sub and, potentially, the MCPR sniper, with that also being on the rise recently.

ISO Hemlock dominating Warzone 2 meta once again despite multiple nerfs – Dexerto
ISO Hemlock dominating Warzone 2 meta once again despite multiple nerfs ActivisionThe ISO Hemlock has, once again, taken over as the dominant meta weapon in Warzone 2 despite getting back-to-back nerfs in recent updates. Over the last few months, the meta in Warzone 2 has undergone some pretty big changes. The previously dominant RPK, Sakin MG38, and TAQ-56 have started to fall by the wayside following big updates. It was Season 3 Reloaded that threw the newest spanner into the works, introducing maximum armor damage values to mess with the long-standing TTK. That, coupled with a raft of buffs and nerfs to a laundry list of weapons has shaken up the meta once again. Sure, some players are on the lookout for underrated guns that can be viable, but there appears to be one true king of the game right now, and it’s that pesky ISO Hemlock. ISO Hemlock returns to top spot as Warzone 2’s most dominant weapon Yes, despite being nerfed in both Season 3 and Season 3 Reloaded, the ISO Hemlock has returned to the top of the charts and reclaimed its spot as the most popular gun in Warzone 2. The assault rifle had previously been dethroned by the Kastov 762 – which now sits in 11th place – and has been rebuilding its lead at the top of the pile ever since Season 3 Reloaded dropped. As per WZRanked stats, the ISO Hemlock has a 19.2% pick rate right now, which is around an 8% lead on the Vaznev-9K and its pick rate of 11.3%. Further down the list, there are some other interesting leaps in pick rate. The Lachmann 556, seen as an alternative to the Hemlock, has been steadily climbing and now sits in 7th. The M13B is also back on the rise, sitting in 13th. It’s safe to say that, unless the AR is nerfed into the ground heading into Season 4, its going to stick at the top of the pile for a little while longer.

ISO Hemlock dethroned as Warzone 2’s most used gun after Season 3 nerf – Dexerto
ISO Hemlock dethroned as Warzone 2’s most used gun after Season 3 nerf ActivisionThe ISO Hemlock assault rifle is no longer the most used gun in Warzone 2 with the Season 3 nerfs causing it to fall out of favor. Throughout Season 2 the ISO Hemlock established itself as the best primary weapon in Warzone 2. Its low recoil coupled with an impressive time to kill made it a strong choice for both medium and long-range engagements. There were other guns that had comparable accuracy such as the Sakin MG38 and M13B but these either handled slower than the Hemlock or dealt less damage. However, the ISO Hemlock got hit with two nerfs in MW2 and Warzone 2’s Season 3 patch. These nerfs saw the Hemlock’s damage decreased across all ranges and its lower torso damage multiplier reduced. Warzone 2 players move to Kastov 762 after ISO Hemlock nerf As a result, the ISO Hemlock has been replaced by the Kastov 762 as the most used gun in Warzone 2, as seen in WZRanked’s stats for weapon usage. Call of Duty’s rendition of the real-world APC556 was comfortably Warzone 2’s most-used primary weapon in Season 3 but has now dropped down to ninth. Taking its place as king of Warzone 2 is the Kastov 762 assault rifle. Based on the AK103, the Kastov 762 is a hard-hitting rifle that has been pretty viable since launch. However, nerfs to its main competitors has allowed the 762 to become the most used gun with a 26.3% pick rate. Continuing down the list, the Vaznev-9K remains as popular as ever with a 13.7% pick rate. Both new guns have also proven popular with the FJX Imperium having an 8.9% pick rate and the Cronen Squall being used by 7.9% of players. The other guns that have overtaken the ISO Hemlock following its nerf in Warzone 2 Season 3 are the Raal MG, Victus XMR, Lachmann Sub, and STB 556. These rankings are by no means final as Season 3 only began on April 12. As the season continues streamers and players alike are expected to figure out what’s best on the current patch establishing a new meta.

Is Zombies free-to-play in Modern Warfare 3? – Dexerto
Is Zombies free-to-play in Modern Warfare 3? ActivisionWith Modern Warfare 3 (the second one) comes a whole new take on the CoD Zombies experience. But is this unique version of the undead mode free-to-play? Following up from last year’s Modern Warfare 2, this year’s CoD release, Modern Warfare 3, takes us back to the original Modern Warfare 2 on the multiplayer side. Confusing, right? But alongside its campaign and nostalgic multiplayer, it also features Zombies, to some degree. CoD Zombies was a Treyarch staple, often structured as the classic round-based experience, pitting players against hordes of undead with secrets scattered throughout the map. Now, however, things are a little different. Dropping players into a vast open world, the Zombies experience is bigger than ever. Though if you’re looking to do just that and drop in, do you need to pay the price of admission for Modern Warfare 3? Is Modern Warfare 3’s Zombies mode free-to-play? In short, no, Modern Warfare 3’s Zombies experience is not free-to-play. Players have to purchase the full version of Modern Warfare 3 in order to access the game mode, even if they have no interest in the campaign or multiplayer. If you’re an experienced CoD player, this shouldn’t exactly come as a surprise. CoD has always charged full price for its Zombies component, and this year’s release is clearly no different. However, the trend may actually change in the coming months. With Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision now cleared, there’s technically nothing stopping the gaming giant from putting CoD titles on Xbox Game Pass. While it doesn’t appear they’re in any rush to do so, it could happen at some stage in 2024. If that were the case, CoD players could then check out Modern Warfare 3’s Zombies mode for just the price of a Game Pass subscription. Is Wuskin the best Modern Warfare player? – Dexerto
Is Wuskin the best Modern Warfare player? DexertoWuskin makes one-half of the Marshall twins. After a solid rookie season on Black Ops 3, his brother, Matthew ‘Skrapz’ Marshall, brought wuksin onto his team for the Infinite Warfare season. The 22-year-olds flew the Fnatic banner on European soil, but the team fell short at the 2017 CWL World Championships after their somewhat underwhelming season. Bradley, on the other hand, had many talking about him leading into World War II. However, the narrative was much the same during WWII. Fast-forward to the Black Ops 4 season and a rejuvenated wuskin found himself in good company under the Team Reciprocity banner. Together with Zach ‘Zed’ Denyer, Wuskin led Reciprocity to a hard-earned third-place finish at CWL Fort Worth and a 5-6 finish at the 2019 CWL World Champs. While there were no tournament wins for Marshall in 2019, the youngster showed that he could stand on his own two feet — away from his brother’s guidance. Now reunited with Skrapz on home soil, wuskin has been leading the Royal Ravens’ CDL charge. After an outstanding Launch Weekend, London’s main AR netted himself another memorable performance during his team’s homestand. Despite coming up short in a thrilling five-game semifinal match against Dallas Empire, Marshall proved that Minnesota’s performance wasn’t just a blip. Having arguably earned back-to-back MVPs in the opening two CDL events, wuskin is really stepping into his own on Modern Warfare.

Is Warzone’s Fortune Keep map bigger than Rebirth Island? – Dexerto
Is Warzone’s Fortune Keep map bigger than Rebirth Island? ActivisionWarzone Season 4 is bringing the brand-new Fortune’s Keep map to the game and players have been speculating how it stacks up against Rebirth Island in size. Warzone is getting a big shakeup in the upcoming Mercenaries of Fortune season. Not only have the developers promised significant gameplay changes in the next era of the game, but a new map is coming into give the fan-favorite Resurgence mode a controversial face lift. Fortune’s Keep has been something of a hot topic since it was formally revealed on June 12, and many players are scared that the seemingly-large map is going to complete ruin the familiar pace that Rebirth Island established. Is Fortune’s Keep bigger than Rebirth Island? The short answer is that Fortune’s Keep is definitively bigger, but the community still can’t seem to agree on just how much bigger. The problem with comparing Fortune’s Keep size with that of Rebirth Island is making sure the two maps are scaled correctly. Prominent creators like JGOD have attempted to nail down the exact scale but have ultimately failed to come up with the final numbers. in the meantime, Redditor Dro2910 did a basic overlay of the maps to give the world a rough estimate of what they’ll be seeing next season. While there’s a lot of room for error in this kind of measurement, the new map is significantly beefier than its predecessor no matter who takes a swing at calculating it. Raven Software has now also contributed to the conversation by showing off all three of the current Warzone maps together to emphasize the various differences. We’re loving the hype for the new #Warzone resurgence map – Fortune’s Keep. Among all the discussions, we’ve seen one question that kept being asked, “How big is Fortune’s Keep?” We think this illustrates it perfectly! 🌋☣️🏰 pic.twitter.com/4lkpvGjSas — Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) June 17, 2022 The community’s concern over size may be justified with these new looks, but there’s still a chance it won’t be as bad as some are predicting. Larger playable areas typically mean slower games with lower interaction, but that may not be the case this time around. There are more buildings on Fortune’s Keep, which means players don’t have to land hot to get looted up. If more players are getting good weapons earlier than ever before, the action could very well stay at an all-time high. It’s still too early to know for sure how things will play out but players can dive into Fortune’s Keep on June 22 and find out for themselves.

Is Warzone going to have a Halloween 2022 event? – Dexerto
Is Warzone going to have a Halloween 2022 event? ActivisionWill Call of Duty: Warzone have another Halloween event this year? Before you begin to jump into Warzone 2.0, here’s what we know so far about the next Warzone Halloween event. Warzone players have enjoyed a multitude of events since the game’s launch in March 2020. Notably, the developers have brought spooktacular thrills in the form of their Haunting of Verdansk and Rebirth of The Dead events in the past. Modern Warfare 2 is right around the corner, alongside the arrival of Warzone 2.0. So, as we jump into Caldera and Fortune’s Keep in the meantime, many players are wondering if the devs will unleash another terrifying event. Here’s what you need to know about the next potential Halloween event in Warzone. Is there going to be a Halloween 2022 event in Warzone? With the release of Modern Warfare 2 on October 28, it is unlikely that a new Halloween event will occur in Warzone. While we won’t rule it out completely, it is worth noting that Raven Software confirmed that Season 5 Reloaded would act as the “final major update” for the original Warzone. Moreover, events like The Haunting have been previously announced through detailed roadmaps. As none of the dev team have suggested or teased an event coming in October, it might be time to leave your spooky Operator skins behind. There’s also the point to be made that Vanguard dropped on 5 November 2021, so there was ample time for a Halloween event in the preceding titles. This year’s pre-Halloween release means there’s not the same window of opportunity for spooky content. Will there be new Halloween 2022 playlists in Warzone? On the off chance that the developers drop a surprise Halloween event, it is still possible that some familiar playlists will return. Modes like Rebirth of The Dead could bring zombies back into Warzone, alongside crates filled with startling jumpscares. However, this is purely speculation. Warzone 2.0 launches on November 16, so be sure to keep updated with all the latest news and guides.

Is Warzone free in Modern Warfare 3? – Dexerto
Is Warzone free in Modern Warfare 3? ActivisionWith the launch of Modern Warfare 3 in November, there are a number of huge changes coming to the Call of Duty franchise. This includes Warzone battle royale, which could look significantly different when it launches — but will it still be free? Warzone gave Call of Duty a whole new lease of life when it launched in March 2020, bringing even more eyes and players to what is already the best-selling video game of each year. The game itself has undergone some serious changes since then, with new maps, different movement systems, countless gun metas, and more. But, the entire time it’s been out, it’s remained free-to play, despite the mainline games still coming in at a premium cost. The question is, will that change for Modern Warfare 3? Will Warzone MW3 be free? Yes, Warzone is free in Modern Warfare 3. It will carry on using the same launcher as Warzone 2, meaning any current players will simply have to update Call of Duty when the game arrives and they should be set to play. It’s not impossible that Activision could decide to lock the game behind a paywall in the future, but that seems unlikely for now, and shouldn’t be a concern at all when the new Warzone experience does finally arrive, expected to be in December. The cost of buying Modern Warfare 3 for multiplayer, campaign, and Zombies, however, is a different story. If you want to get the mainline game, there are two editions of MW3 for you to buy: the Standard Edition and the Vault Edition. The Standard Edition clocks in at $70 for the base game while, for an extra $30, the Vault Edition will also earn you a number of Operator packs, weapon blueprints, Battle Pass tier skips, and more. If you only want to play Warzone, however, it won’t cost you a penny.

Is Warzone coming to CoD Mobile? New evidence suggests possible Verdansk plans – Dexerto
Is Warzone coming to CoD Mobile? New evidence suggests possible Verdansk plans ActivisionIf a recent survey is to be believed, there may be plans for Warzone’s map Verdansk to come to Call of Duty: Mobile’s battle royale mode sometime in the near future. If you’re a Call of Duty: Mobile fan but you’ve been wanting a new battle royale map to sink your teeth into then there may be some good news for you on the horizon. In a recent survey shared by Twitter user and CoD leaker ModernWarzone, Activision is asking players directly if they are interested in “new battle royale maps” coming to the game, specifically mentioning Warzone’s Verdansk map and Black Ops 4’s Blackout map as candidates. Of course, this isn’t foolproof evidence that Verdansk is coming to the game, however, it seems like Activision is at least considering it, which does make sense. Verdansk has been available since Warzone released to the public and Call of Duty: Mobile does get content from Modern Warfare and Warzone from time to time, with the AS VAL coming to the game in the near future. Additionally, with speculation and leaks running rampant about Verdansk getting blown up and possibly removed from the game in April 2021, it makes sense that Activision would want the map to live on in some way after it’s gone in the main title. 🚨 BREAKING 🚨 Call of Duty Mobile has launched surveys asking their players if they’d like to see “New Battle Royale Maps, such as Verdansk from #CallOfDuty #Warzone”. This adds to the evidence of Warzone coming to COD mobile. pic.twitter.com/pf5EBBeRdD — ModernWarzone (@ModernWarzone) March 1, 2021 Still, this is far from confirmation that Verdansk is coming to Call of Duty: Mobile and even if it is, it might be a while before fans see it in-game, especially considering just how massive and detailed it is. Interestingly enough, a job listing hinted that a version of Warzone was in the works for mobile devices last year so it’s unclear if that’s still the plan or if the devs now want to simply bring the map over to the full mobile game. If Verdansk does come, then it wouldn’t be surprising if some serious changes would have to be made to the map itself. Maybe we’ll end up getting a cutdown version, or maybe we won’t get anything related to the map whatsoever. Only time will tell.

Is Warzone changing engines with new map? Leaked image sparks rumors about Blackout 2.0 – Dexerto
Is Warzone changing engines with new map? Leaked image sparks rumors about Blackout 2.0 ActivisionA leaked image of Warzone’s new map has sparked concerns from players that the battle royale might move over to the Black Ops Cold War engine, but that might not be the case. Prior to the integration of Black Ops Cold War, Warzone players speculated on a whole range of things. How would the weapons fit in? Would Verdansk be replaced? Would there be a new engine? Pretty much everything was theorized on. When the time came, Raven Software didn’t make many drastic changes. You can use Cold War and Modern Warfare weapons – though there have been some issues with those. There are still rumors about a new map set in the Ural Mountains, and a new leaked image has sparked fears that the game could be ditching its current engine for the Black Ops Cold War one. Will Warzone use the Black Ops Cold War engine? On March 12, an image of the ‘Zoo’ location in this new Warzone map did the rounds on social media. Of course, some players were happy to see a new location and more rumors about a new map. However, more eagle-eyed players spotted the Black Ops Cold War hud, and suggested that it’s use in the image would mark the arrival of a new map. Yet, according to DeclassifiedCoD – a leaker who shared the image first – that won’t be the case. “Kinda sad I need to log back in to say this, the Zoo screenshot does NOT mean any type of engine switch, it is from a T9 play test build, and ATVI already confirmed an engine switch is not happening. Good bye,” they posted. https://twitter.com/DeclassifiedCOD/status/1369981143894925313 https://twitter.com/DeclassifiedCOD/status/1370418830569275395 Read More: How to get your Warzone Report for year one –

Is Verdansk coming to Warzone 2? – Dexerto
Is Verdansk coming to Warzone 2? ActivisionIs Verdansk coming to Warzone 2? Find out all the latest information on the classic map’s potential return in our hub. Warzone players have wanted Verdansk to return ever since Caldera replaced it during the Black Ops Cold War integration. Since then, Verdansk has been missing from both the original Warzone and Warzone 2. While both the casual and pro Call of Duty playerbase has praised Al Mazrah, the community still has a lot of affection for Verdansk. After all, the game’s original map featured a lot of iconic POIs that made it incredibly fun to play on. Because of its overall popularity, many players will be wondering whether Verdansk will be making its way to Warzone 2. So, here’s everything we currently know about if or when the map will return. Is Verdansk coming to Warzone 2? As of writing, Activision has made no announcement on whether Verdansk will be coming to Warzone 2. In fact, the developers have been incredibly quiet when it comes to disclosing information about new maps and modes. However, Warzone 2 players did recently spot a subtle Verdansk easter egg hidden on a new Operator. As Reddit user ‘tiktokalnuke’ revealed, the default Reyes Operator skin has a cutout of the Verdansk map covering his forearm. By triggering the weapon inspect animation, this small portion of a map on his body becomes clear. While this is likely just a subtle nod to Warzone’s past, there could be a deeper meaning here. It’s also important to note that Verdansk will be making its return when Warzone Mobile releases next year. While this may not be the news players had wanted, it does enable you to relive what made this map so special. So, if you miss getting into gunfights on Verdansk, then you may want to consider downloading Warzone Mobile when it launches. That’s everything we currently know about whether Verdansk is coming to Warzone 2. Is there splitscreen in Warzone 2? – Dexerto
Is there splitscreen in Warzone 2? ActivisionWarzone 2 is inherently a multiplayer game – but does it have splitscreen capabilities? We’ve got all the answers here. While Call of Duty Warzone 2 is great for single players or a squad, it still remains a multiplayer game at heart, pushing players to work together to complete contracts or get that Warzone victory. With that in mind, many are asking, is Warzone 2 splitscreen? We’ve got the answer to that common question, detailing whether you can sit next to your friends and play Warzone 2 from the same console or PC. To find out if Modern Warfare 2 is capable of splitscreen, take a look at our handy guide which has all the answers. Does Warzone 2 have splitscreen? Unfortunately, no. Warzone 2 does not have the capability to be played splitscreen, which is rather misleading due to the occasional pop-up in the menu that tells players to “add a second controller for splitscreen”. With that in mind, if you want to play Warzone 2 with your friends it will need to be on a separate console or PC, no couch co-op is available. Will Warzone 2 have splitscreen? It’s hard to say whether Warzone 2 will ever have splitscreen capabilities. However, it’s unlikely given the fact that the original Warzone didn’t have the option to play splitscreen either. That and the fact that it’s a relatively demanding game with high specifications, meaning it would be a challenge to enable splitscreen. If such a setting is released we will be updating this article so be sure to check back soon. Does Modern Warfare 2 have split-screen? – Dexerto
Does Modern Warfare 2 have split-screen? ActivisionModern Warfare 2 is primarily a multiplayer game despite having an excellent single-player story at its core. With so much content, many wonder, does Modern Warfare 2 have a split-screen mode to enjoy it with friends? Here’s everything we know about it. Allowing multiple players to play off the same screen, the split-screen mode has been a staple feature in CoD for almost the entire series and is an incredibly popular feature for gamers. Back in the day, split-screen was a great way to relax and play with buddies on the couch, with it first being introduced back in 2005’s Call of Duty 2. However, with almost everybody having their hands on their own console the feature has slowly become less and less popular — and often overlooked by developers, prompting the question, does Modern Warfare 2 have split-screen? Here’s everything we know. Does Modern Warfare have split-screen? Thankfully, Modern Warfare 2 does have split-screen capability, meaning you can play co-op with friends. However, you’ll only be able to use it in Private Matches within the Multiplayer mode. Note that it also only supports two players rather than the classic four-player split-screen. While disappointing, that doesn’t mean that split-screen for other parts of the game won’t be supported in the future. How to play split-screen in MW2 Luckily, split-screen is relatively simple to set up. All you need to do is follow these steps: Connect a second controller or keyboard and mouse to your console. – Sign in to the other player’s Activision account or create a new one. – Split-screen will be enabled. – It’s that easy. Is there going to be a Warzone 3? – Dexerto
Is there going to be a Warzone 3? ActivisionCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is releasing in less than a week. Hence, there is a lot of confusion if we will be getting Warzone 3 alongside the upcoming title. Here is what we know about it. Modern Warfare 3 is the next chapter in the Call of Duty franchise that will propel the series towards the future. However, ever since the release of the original Warzone, the battle royal has become an integral aspect of the franchise as a whole. Thus, with Modern Warfare 3 on the horizon, questions are being asked about the introduction of Warzone 3 as well in the game. In fact, some fans have already started referring to the next iteration of the battle royal mode as Warzone 3. Here is all that you need to know about Warzone 3 in the latest sequel. Are we getting Warzone 3? No, we are not getting Warzone 3 alongside Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. In fact, the name Warzone 2 has also been scrapped and Activision has named it as just the “new Warzone”. It does seem like Activision is going for an inclusive approach where Warzone simply gets updated depending on the game. However, the name will remain the same, thereby creating a familiar environment for players. The name Warzone 2 was initially coined back during the release of Modern Warfare 2. However, Activision for some reason decided to revert it back to Warzone. Unfortunately, the change from Warzone to Warzone 2 created some confusion amongst the players. Many of them felt that with Modern Warfare 3, we might be getting Warzone 3. In fact, it is often easy to tag a number alongside the title to designate the changes following a brand-new game. Nevertheless, for the time being, you will have to be satisfied with just Warzone. In case Activision decides to bring forth any changes when it comes to the naming convention, we will update you accordingly. Is there a Specialist Perk bonus in Warzone 2? – Dexerto
Is there a Specialist Perk bonus in Warzone 2? ActivisionThe Specialist Perk bonus was a valuable item in the original Warzone, but following the decision to remove custom Perk setups, is there a Specialist bonus in Warzone 2? Warzone 2 has shaken things up drastically from the first game, introducing a host of new features from AI Strongholds to splitting circles. One of the more controversial changes from the original is the removal of custom Perk loadouts, forcing players to pick from pre-made Packages. With fans unable to choose their own Perks, many might be hoping to find the Specialist Perk bonus around Al Mazrah. But is there a Specialist Perk in Warzone 2? We’ve got all the details below. What is the Specialist Perk in Warzone? The Specialist Perk bonus was a lootable item in the original Warzone that granted players the effect of every Perk in the game at the same time. While most players would be limited to their three chosen Perks, anyone lucky to find Specialist would have a huge advantage over other players. It could be only found as ground loot and had an extremely low drop rate, so players would often go through dozens of matches without finding it. Does Warzone 2 have the Specialist Perk bonus? Unfortunately, there is no sign of the Specialist Perk in Warzone 2. Perks aren’t currently part of the ground loot on Al Mazrah, so there’s no way of gaining their effects until purchasing a loadout. Once you save up enough cash to get a loadout drop, players are limited to the Perk Package equipped for each setup. This is likely part of Infinity Ward’s effort to make Warzone 2 matches as fair and balanced as possible. There has been plenty of backlash surrounding the Perk system in the sequel, with many calling for the option to choose custom Perks to return. The devs are yet to comment, but fans will be hoping that the original approach to Perks makes a comeback in a future update. If the devs do revert the changes, there’s every chance that Specialist could return as well. We’ll be sure to keep this page updated with all the latest information. In the meantime, be sure to check out our other Warzone 2 guides: Do Warzone skins carry over to Warzone 2? | What are Strongholds in Warzone 2? | All Warzone 2 vehicles and Gas Stations | Does Warzone 2 have SBMM? | How do Warzone 2 circles work?

Is the Paladin HB50 the most powerful sniper rifle in Black Ops 4? – Dexerto
Is the Paladin HB50 the most powerful sniper rifle in Black Ops 4? As with every Call of Duty release, fans have argued about which of the game’s numerous sniper rifles is the one players should be wielding in Black Ops 4. Throughout most of Black Ops 4 most sniping fans have debated whether players should be using the Koshka or the Paladin HB50, with the community split on which one is the superior weapon. After breaking down the Koshka, Call of Duty expert and YouTuber Brad ‘Drift0r’ Overbey has taken an in-depth look at the Paladin HB50 in an attempt to figure out its strengths and weaknesses. The Paladin is the heaviest sniper rifle, and while it’s 140 base damage rate is around the same as the other rifles in its class, what really sets the HB50 apart is its one shot kill areas, with the weapon landing one-shot kills to the head, neck and upper chest without any attachments. When High Calibre II is added to the Paladin, it offers one-shot kills to seven different areas, including the three possible with no attachments, along with the torso, groin, thighs and even the hands. The weapon fires 44 rounds-per-minute, making it one of the slowest weapons in its class, but with the weapon being a bolt action rifle, this is hardly a surprise. The weapon also has the slowest aim-down-sights time in the class at 400 milliseconds. The Paladin HB50 is built for power rather than mobility, and can even be used to take down enemy scorestreaks quickly if you have FMJ II attached. While Drift0r prefers the Koshka as it’s increased mobility allows you to move around the map easier, the Paladin is extremely useful if you’re stationary and attempting to pick off opponents from long range. Is the Maddox RFB assault rifle overpowered in Black Ops 4? – Dexerto
Is the Maddox RFB assault rifle overpowered in Black Ops 4? Brad Overbey, otherwise known as Drift0r, has taken an in-depth look at the Maddox RFB assault rifle from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 in an attempt to figure out whether the weapon is overpowered or not. The weapon has become a popular choice among casual and competitive players alike, thanks to its high rate of fire and it’s vertical recoil pattern, which is easy to control once you start practicing with this weapon. The Maddox also deals 32 damage at close range and 27 at long range, with no gradual decrease in the damage value depending on distance, meaning it is always a five or six shot kill. Due to the high rate of fire and consistent damage, the Maddox has the fastest time-to-kill (TTK) of all the assault rifles in the game. It also kills quicker than the majority of the sub-machine guns in the game, with only the Spitfire and SAUG 9mm having a faster TTK. The weapon’s high rate of fire also means that it is powerful when hip-fired, with the laser sight attachments making it extremely dangerous when players choose to not aim down their sights. Reload times are also extremely quick, with the Maddox taking 1.75 seconds to reload with no attachments, 0.85s with Fast Mags and just 0.5s with Fast Mags II attached. Drift0r believes that due to the weapon’s impressive statistics making the Maddox a gun that can be used in almost any scenario. The YouTuber says it may be a little overpowered for competitive play, but believes the ICR would be a better rifle for pro players who are set up to anchor spawns. In public matches, Drift0r states that while the Maddox RFB has a lot of great things going for it, the fact that the weapon’s maximum damage dealt range is fairly short for an assault rifle coupled with the lack of FMJ or High Calibre attachments available for it means that it’s not overpowered, and he doesn’t believe that Treyarch should make any changes to the weapon in the near future.

Is the DMR still OP in Warzone? Rumors spread that nerf has been reverted – Dexerto
Is the DMR still OP in Warzone? Rumors spread that nerf has been reverted Treyarch/ActivisionSome Warzone players are concerned that the nerfs to the DMR-14 have been reverted and the weapon is back to its overpowered state. But, tests have denied these rumors – though players still have concerns. Warzone’s integration with Black Ops Cold War was an extremely exciting update for the Call of Duty community. Combining the two games meant that Warzone players could finally enjoy a brand new set of weapons that hadn’t been tested in a battle royale environment. After a short delay, the update was rolled out on December 16 and the new weapons were introduced into the game. It didn’t take players long to figure out the meta and one gun, in particular, stood out from the crowd. The now infamous DMR-14 – and it wasn’t long before the majority of players began using the weapon and labeling it as overpowered. The gun plagued multiplayer matches for just over a month before it was nerfed in early January. It finally felt as if the days of the DMR-14 were at last behind us. Well, that was until a rumor began to circulate the nerf had inadvertently been reverted. Has the DMR-14 nerf been reverted? Rumors had begun to circulate among the Warzone community that the DMR nerfs had been reverted. Professional Warzone player Tommey even voiced his concern that the weapon was back to its original state: “Hate to break it to you, but I think they reverted the DMR nerf…” Hate to break it to you, but I think they reverted the DMR nerf… — Tommey (@Tommey) January 19, 2021 Of course, news that the DMR had potentially been reverted back to its original power level had Warzone players extremely worried. Well-known figures in the Call of Duty scene such as Xclusive Ace and TrueGameData decided to do some investigating for themselves to see if the rumors were correct. Read More: Bizarre Warzone bug doesn’t show circle – After testing the weapons, both of them said that the DMR nerfs had not been reverted. A rumor has been floating around about a potential revert to the DMR nerf. I just tested and this isn’t true. — Xclusive Ace (@TheXclusiveAce) January 19, 2021 Rumor from @ModernWarzone that the DMR nerf was reverted. I just tested, it is still nerfed. It is just still really good and people may not realize that for some reason. — 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 (@TrueGameData) January 19, 2021 Despite the rumors being proven wrong, this certainly indicates that players are still unhappy with how powerful the DMR is in Warzone. The weapon may have been nerfed, but it’s still a solid choice for a medium-long range loadout. It’ll be interesting to see if the DMR receives anymore nerfs or if the developers are finally satisfied with its power level. Either way, after a month of the weapon plaguing multiplayer before the nerf, it’s no surprise Warzone players are still paranoid about being killed by the now-infamous gun.

Is the Dexterity Perk worth using in Black Ops 4 Multiplayer? – Dexerto
Is the Dexterity Perk worth using in Black Ops 4 Multiplayer? TheXclusiveAceThere are numerous Perks available for use in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Multiplayer, one of which is Dexterity. Dexterity is Tier 2 Perk that allows the user to mantle, climb, and slide faster, while also speeding up weapon swapping and increasing weapon accuracy when mantling or jumping. Due to its wide range of boosts to movement and weapon usage, the Perk has become one of the more popular options among the player-base, including most within the competitive scene. However, popular CoD YouTuber TheXclusiveAce has questioned whether Dexterity is as valuable as many make it out to be and whether it’s actually worth equipping in players’ load-outs. In a video he recently published, the YouTuber analyzes some of the immediate effects of the Perk – mantling, climbing, and sliding faster – and confirms that Dexterity does, in fact, offer a noticeable boost in all three categories. As for weapon swapping, he does reach the conclusion that weapons can be swapped about 30% faster for those who have the Perk equipped as opposed to not. However, despite all of these initial abilities being true, TheXclusiveAce thinks that the boosts are extremely marginal and may not have as big of an effect as players think. “This is true on all of those cases. However, in all of these cases, it’s a very small amount,” he says. “And in my opinion, it would have a very small effect on your gameplay.” That aside, he then goes into analyzing the most important ability the Perk offers, and what most players equip it for, which is the ability to shoot more accurately when jumping or mantling. Interestingly enough, unlike the Perk’s previous effects, the YouTuber realizes that Dexterity actually does not offer any advantage in terms of weapon accuracy when jumping or mantling, whether the jumping occurs stationary or at an angle. “So it appears, at least in the game’s current state, the second part of the description for Dexterity is just incorrect,” he states “This Perk appears to have literally no effect whatsoever on your ability to stay accurate while performing a jump shot in this game.” At the end of the video, TheXclusiveAce comes to the conclusion that, in his opinion, Dexterity just does not offer much of an advantage since its most important effect is essentially a fallacy. “It’s not really doing much for you, and it my opinion, this Perk is generally not worth using in its current state. The effects on those areas that it does actually change are very minimal for the most part. And you don’t even get the full benefit of what the Perk description says.” He goes on to claim that Gung-Ho, another Tier 2 Perk, is a much more effective option than Dexterity for aggressive players who are trying to reap that benefits that Dexterity is supposed to provide.

Is Terminator coming to Warzone? Rambo & Die Hard leaks fuel more crossover rumors – Dexerto
Is Terminator coming to Warzone? Rambo & Die Hard leaks fuel more crossover rumors Terminator/ActivsionWith Warzone looking set to do crossovers with Rambo and Die Hard, some Call of Duty fans have been asking if the Terminator will be next. So, here’s what we know so far. When it comes to crossovers between battle royale games and pop culture, Epic Games and Fortnite has set the bar incredibly high. They’ve had crossovers with a whole host of pop culture icons in TV, movies, music, sports, and even other video games. Warzone has gotten in on the trend just a little bit with the Haunting of Verdansk event having skins from Halloween movies like SAW and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Now, as Verdansk has gone back in time to the 1980s, it looks as if more crossovers are coming with Rambo and Die Hard already being teased, but could the Terminator be next? Will there be a Terminator crossover in Warzone? That’s right, if you’re out of the loop, the teasers for Rambo and Die Hard operators in Warzone have begun on Twitter with countless references to the classic 80’s movies. The Terminator has been caught up in the rumors after the main Call of Duty Twitter account quote tweeted a post asking them to add action heroes like Rambo, Terminator, Chuck Norris, and members of the A Team with a thinking emoji. The devs haven’t gone any further than that post, and they certainly haven’t teased the Terminator as much as the others, but don’t rule it out. Terminator in Warzone leaks Some leakers have also played up to the hype and added some confusion by claiming outright that a Terminator crossover is coming. That’s not been confirmed yet. Additionally, Tom ‘LongSensation’ Henderson put the Terminator down as one crossover he’d like to see, which some social media users have taken to mean that it’s happening. Again, nothing has been confirmed. https://twitter.com/_Tom_Henderson_/status/1391103769925009409 https://twitter.com/WarzoneNewz/status/1390113573645455360 Adding a Terminator skin to Warzone alongside Rambo and Die Hard would make a lot of sense, given how big all three franchises are. Plus, the first Terminator movie released in 1984, so it’s in the current time frame as Verdansk. What would be interesting is the fact that Fortnite had a Terminator crossover during their last season with Sarah Connor and T-800 cosmetic sets. Would the fact that Fortnite did it first stop Activision and Raven from pursuing a crossover? It’s unknown, but we’ll just have to wait and see. If anything new comes to light regarding Warzone and the Terminator, be sure to check back as we’ll have the latest updates here in this post.

Is Resurgence coming to Warzone 2? – Dexerto
Is Resurgence coming to Warzone 2? ActivisionResurgence was a fan-favorite mode in the original Warzone, and many players are wondering if Warzone 2 will add the playlist in a future update. Here’s everything we know about when Resurgence is coming to Warzone 2. Warzone 2 offers a number of different ways to play, from the regular Solos, Duos, and Squads playlists, to the new DMZ mode. It’s also experimented with limited-time modes, such as the Rocket League-style Warzone Cup. However, months into Warzone 2’s lifecycle there is still no sign of the Resurgence mode that proved extremely popular in Warzone 1, and made the likes of Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep into fan-favorite maps. If you’re ready for a change of pace from the regular battle royale experience, here’s everything we know so far about when Resurgence is coming to Warzone 2. Is there a Warzone 2 Resurgence release date? Sadly, there has been no official announcement from the developers on when Resurgence will come to Warzone 2. That being said, a number of leaks have hinted that it will arrive on February 1, 2023, as part of Warzone 2 Season 2. A report from Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming reported that Resurgence would arrive in Season 2, along with a brand-new map. This came just weeks after alleged screenshots of the map surfaced online. The reported map was much smaller in size than Al Mazrah and featured a number of interesting POIs, including a castle that served as the centerpiece, as well as a town center and port. However, the devs are yet to confirm or deny the leaks, so take them with a pinch of salt until the new season is revealed. What is Resurgence mode in Warzone? Resurgence is the faster-paced alternative to regular battle royale gameplay, which gives players the opportunity to respawn after death instead of being permanently eliminated. So long as a member of your squad is still alive, you can return to the action after death – at least until respawns are disabled for the last few minutes. These faster matches use a smaller lobby size of around 40 to 50 players and take place on more compact maps. In the original Warzone, there was Rebirth Island, based on the real-life Alcatraz Island, with Fortune’s Keep coming later. Restricting the matches to smaller maps forced players to play much more aggressively, as they were more likely to run into rival squads at a more consistent rate. Warzone 2 made a host of major changes from the first game, such as splitting Circles and the addition of AI Strongholds. With so many new mechanics to consider, we’ll have to wait and see how Warzone 2 Resurgence mode looks and players when it finally arrives. Is Rebirth Island coming to Warzone 2? – Dexerto
Is Rebirth Island coming to Warzone 2? ActivisionWondering when Rebirth Island will be coming to Warzone 2? Well, our handy hub has everything you need to know about the map’s possible return. Rebirth Island originally made its debut in Warzone as part of Season One content for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. However, now that the original Warzone has rebranded to Warzone Caldera, the 40-player map is now missing from rotation. Not only did Rebirth Island prove incredibly popular amongst the game’s playerbase, but it also provided plenty of intense close-quarter firefights. This made it the perfect place to level up guns and grind out attachments. As result, many Warzone 2 players will be curious to know whether Rebirth Island will be making its way to Warzone 2. So, here’s everything we currently know about the map’s long-awaited return. Will Rebirth Island come to Warzone 2? As of writing, Activision has made no announcement on whether Rebirth Island will be coming to Warzone 2. In fact, the developers have been incredibly tight-lipped about new maps and modes. So far, players can either play the regular BR or on DMZ, the new extraction-based mode that pits Operators against AI enemies and other squads. While this mode has been praised by the community, those wishing to leave Al Mazrah and play on other Warzone maps don’t currently have much of a choice. Of course, it’s still early days for Warzone 2 and the developers are busy ironing out a number of the game’s bugs and adding new content to Al Mazrah. Whether we’ll see Rebirth Island or Verdansk added to the game in the future remains to be seen, but for now, that’s all the information we have. Be sure to check out our Call of Duty page for all the latest Warzone 2 news and guides.

Is Octane the greatest CoD AR since Formal? – Dexerto
Is Octane the greatest CoD AR since Formal? Sam ‘Octane’ Larew has been playing Call of Duty at the highest level ever since Advanced Warfare released in 2014. In six years he’s become one of the most sought-after slayers in the esport, with his AR skills making him attractive to the very biggest teams. However, despite being an in-demand player, Octane has never really been able to settle on any team for long, and he has had to endure more than his fair share of drama in his career. But that hasn’t stopped him from becoming the best AR in the game – during the last 12 months, in particular, he’s completely bossed it. So how has he managed it? How did Octane go from humble beginnings, flitting from team to team with mixed results, to becoming an AR master? Going all the way back to the beginning, Octane’s first team was iSolation eSports, but he was only with them for a month before moving on to Dream Team in December of 2014. Then he joined Team JusTus a few months later in February 2015. With JusTus, he placed just 12th in Season Two of the Pro League, and then moved on to Prophecy NA in May for their Season Three Relegation Tournament matches. They didn’t make it to Season 3, and Octane moved on again after a month. Next, he joined Team EnVyUs in June of 2015 alongside his Prophecy team-mate, Aqua, but once again, results didn’t go the way he had planned. Envy didn’t win an event for the rest of that season, and placed just 7-8th in the Season 3 Playoffs. However, the young player didn’t get discouraged. His teams weren’t performing, but Octane, and everyone else in the scene, knew that he was on another level. During this time, even if wins were hard to come by, Octane was putting up good numbers, and was being considered as one of the top rookie players of the year. Other players in the conversation included the likes of Huke and TJHaLy, who had started competing at minor LANs during the Ghosts season but were now performing on the biggest stages, and Temp, a new breakout star. Not bad company to be in. He was also playing with, and earning the respect of some of the game’s best players, like ACHES, Aqua, and JKap. In September, Octane joined Elevate for the MLG World Finals, and, at last, the wins started stacking up. They scored victories over FaZe and Denial, but fell short against Optic, and then fell to third place after coming up against Denial again in the Final Bracket. In October, Octane joined Rise Nation, and finally he was able to settle down as he started to get some tournament wins under his belt as Black Ops 3 was getting underway. He stayed with Rise for a full year, and they were considered one of the top Call of Duty teams at the time. However, results did start to slip towards the end of the year, and they could only manage a 5-6th place finish at the Call of Duty World League Championships 2016. That was Octane’s last game for Rise as the team broke apart. Together with former Rise teammates Slacked and Classic, he joined Luminosity Gaming at the beginning of the Infinite Warfare season, where they were joined by Saints. Things started slow as they got used to playing with Saints, but as time went on, they started to improve, particularly as the 2017 CWL Global Pro League Stage 1 went on. By the time Playoffs rolled around, Octane was in the form of his life, and they took second place. Shortly after that, Luminosity bossed the Anaheim Open, with Octane picking up the tournament MVP award and finally earning a win over Splyce in the final, a team who had been a thorn in his side during the knockout stages of big tournaments in recent times. Read more: 6 Players to watch during CDL London – Already known as one of the best AR players in the game, these performances, which included a third-place finish at the World League Championship in 2017, really put Octane on the map. Luminosity continued their success into WWII, putting up great numbers and results, and winning the Birmingham Open in April. In May 2018 he got what seemed like his big break with OpTic Gaming. When the biggest Call of Duty team in the world it’s tough to say no, and Octane had no way of knowing the drama that would build over the next few months. It was OpTic’s first roster change in three years, as Octane and Methodz replaced FormaL and Karma. That lineup had won 13 LAN titles together, the most impressive of which was the $1.5million Worlds win in 2017, where they had knocked out Octane’s Luminosity in Round 6. However, the wins dried up at the start of WWII, and by the following May, OpTic needed a change. Enter the hot young star, Octane. During a Reddit AMA right after joining the team, Octane revealed just how excited he was to be the newest part of the Green Wall. “It’s one of the few times in my life I can say I’m genuinely proud of myself and it feels so damn good,” he said. “It’s a genuinely life changing experience and I’m happy as hell to be here.” However, within a few months, he would be on the move again. Optic’s struggles with WWII continued despite the roster moves, and at the World League Championship in 2018, they fell to an ignominious 17-24th place, unable to make it out of Group H despite winning the whole thing just a year before. Octane was then accused by his former teammate John of not performing at his best at CWL Seattle so that he would have the opportunity to join OpTic, something which Octane vehemently denied. Octane left for 100 Thieves in August after crashing out of Worlds, shocking the Call of Duty world. Sure, OpTic didn’t have the best year, but do you really leave one of the biggest and most historically successful orgs after a few bad results? And why would he go to 100 Thieves, a team with barely any experience in the scene? Was something else going on? Even before he left OpTic, rumours started to circulate, and things got personal when Octane’s girlfriend, Berta, was brought into it. CoD Burner, the mysterious esports pro team insider, popped up on Reddit with information about OpTic’s plan for roster moves right before they were officially announced. He suggested that it would be Methodz making way, saying: “I think Methodz only stays if it is 5v5 or if Larew’s +1 pisses off the team and org more.” Larew’s +1 was clearly referring to Octane’s girlfriend, which they did not take kindly to. Berta quickly hit back, saying: “You really have to learn that that’s not how comp CoD works and you really have to learn info before you post it online. It’s literally up to the team and managers, not if the girlfriend gets along with anyone. And I’m friends with the org, I’m a mod in stream chats, like don’t drag me into this to get some attention. You look hella dumb.” She also suggested that the claims were not coming from “the real” CoD Burner. Octane got involved too, tweeting: “I just read that I’m leaving OpTic because of ‘relationship conflicts’ with Berta and people are genuinely believing it.” He also added: “Berta gets along quite fine with my teammates and she has no impact on what team I’m on. For the dude that is desperately seeking attention, look elsewhere because you’re 0 for 1 here my guy.” Just a couple of days later, and after just three months with the team, Octane announced he would be leaving OpTic and joining 100 Thieves. Joining OpTic was supposed to be a dream move for Octane, but it quickly turned sour, as it appeared OpTic were scapegoating him for their failures that year. After saying his goodbyes on Twitter, he confirmed that he “didn’t leave OpTic by choice.” On a livestream the following week, Octane said “I don’t even know why I got dropped,” although admitted that the org clearly needed a change in personnel after their bad results. Everyone thought 100 Thieves were a risk. The org had had a brief and highly unsuccessful run in Call of Duty a couple of years earlier, and results were certainly up and down for the squad in their early time together in 2018. They almost didn’t make the league, and were considered by many to be a laughing stock that would fade away sooner rather than later. However, 2019 saw 100 Thieves come into their own, led by the slaying power of Octane, and suddenly, the org were arguably the best thing going. He was high up in the conversation for best AR player around, and he also had a few personal highlights along the way, given the turmoil he had been through in 2018. Almost every time 100 Thieves came up against his old team OpTic, they dominated. Octane seemed to cancel out his opposite number, Crimsix, often considered one of the best to ever play the game. Getting one over on the team that dumped you must feel sweet, but to do it throughout the year, often knocking them out of big tournaments, must have felt like a vindication. Octane got another MVP award as 100 Thieves won their first championship at CWL London, and then they won CWL Anaheim the following month. 100 Thieves went on to a second place finish at Worlds in 2019, Octane’s best ever performance at the tournament, and the biggest cash win of his career. The team they beat to reach the Grand Final? OpTic Gaming. In October of 2019, Octane had to move teams again, although this time there was no doubting his ability. 100 Thieves announced they would not be taking part in the newly franchised Call of Duty League, and bowed out of the esport. Octane was picked up by Seattle Surge, the 11th team of his career, where he now hopes to forge a future. He’s playing alongside his former 100 Thieves teammate, Enable, his former Luminosity teammate, Slacked, and his former Prophecy teammate, Apathy, so there’s plenty of familiarity there already. He has come close a couple of times, but the thing that still evades Octane is that elusive World championship title. Still just 22-years-old, and with an abundance of skill at his disposal, surely it can’t be too far away?

Here’s everything you need to know about playing with friends on other platforms in Modern Warfare 2. Does CoD Modern Warfare 2 have cross-platform? Is Modern Warfare 2 coming to Xbox Game Pass? – Dexerto
Is Modern Warfare 2 coming to Xbox Game Pass? Microsoft / Activision BlizzardCall of Duty Modern Warfare 2 released in October 2022, and with Microsoft soon to acquire Activision Blizzard, many are wondering if Modern Warfare 2 will be coming to Xbox Game Pass. Here’s everything you need to know. The digital gaming landscape can be a lot to keep with and Xbox Game Pass’ rotating lineup of titles is no exception. Microsoft’s potential acquisition of Activision Blizzard doesn’t help matters either, as the waters will only continue to get murkier when it comes to Call of Duty. While the franchise has long held a deal with Playstation to deliver new content to their platform first, will MW2 ever make its way onto the green brand’s signature streaming service? Will Modern Warfare 2 be on Xbox Game Pass? Unfortunately, Modern Warfare will not be on Xbox Game Pass. Both Activision Blizzard and Modern Warfare 2 in general have a marketing partnership with PlayStation and there are no plans to change that. There’s no telling if it will end up being on Xbox Game Pass over time but it will not be added to the service for the foreseeable future. That partnership is likely on its last renewal if the Microsoft purchase does get approved, which would leave plenty of room for the Xbox leads to capitalize on the popularity of Game Pass to negotiate their own special deal in the future. What is Modern Warfare 2 being released on? While Modern Warfare 2 might not be coming to Xbox Game Pass, it is still available on multiple platforms and is not a PlayStation exclusive. Modern Warfare 2 will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Battle.Net, and Steam. Is Methodz set to leave OpTic Gaming’s CoD team? – Dexerto
Is Methodz set to leave OpTic Gaming’s CoD team? The competitive Call of Duty community continues to wait for OpTic Gaming to announce their roster changes, one of which many expect to be the departure of Anthony ‘Methodz’ Zinni. Several insider sources within the community, including the infamous and mysterious ‘CoDBurner,’ have claimed that OpTic’s decision to part ways with Methodz has already been sealed. This would mean that OpTic, who have already let Sam ‘Octane’ Larew go, will have to bring in three new players to complete their five-man roster. However, the CWL recently revealed that teams must keep at least three players from their WWII roster if they want their Pro League status from the previous season to count towards qualification for CWL Vegas – the first event of the Black Ops 4 campaign. This recent development has led to many questioning whether OpTic will risk losing their Pro League status by releasing Methodz, or if they’ll decide to keep him on the roster after all.

Is long barrel any good in Black Ops 4 multiplayer? – Dexerto
Is long barrel any good in Black Ops 4 multiplayer? The long barrel attachment in Black Ops 4 increases your weapon’s effective range, but just how much of a boost does it give? When it comes to attachments on weapons in Black Ops 4, choosing the right one could mean the difference between racking up scorestreaks and staring at the respawn screen. Long barrel is one such attachment that stands to give players a major advantage by increasing the range at which they can secure kills in Black Ops 4 multiplayer. YouTuber ‘TheXclusiveAce’ has helped eliminate all the guesswork with just how effective long barrels are with an extensive breakdown of their use on each weapon in the game. While long barrel does increase the range of all weapons in the game, the range increase is different for each weapon class. At the low end of the spectrum are pistols and SMGs, receiving the least amount of range increase across the board. On the other end of the spectrum are assault and tactical rifles, with both weapon classes seeing their ranges doubled with the use of the long barrel. When do headshots matter in Black Ops 4? Headshot and High Caliber multiplier explainedOne thing of note when it comes to long barrels is that the ‘Long Barrel 2’ attachment is actually useless and not worth using. While it’s supposed to increase bullet travel time, XclusiveAce finds that it doesn’t change the time it takes for shots to register at all. Before ending the video, XclusiveAce addresses the dilemma of using the suppressor and the long barrel at the same time. He concludes, however, that the range increase of the long barrel overpowers any decrease in from the suppressor meaning the two can safely be used together. Is Gunfight in Modern Warfare 2? Popular mode silently removed – Dexerto
Is Gunfight in Modern Warfare 2? Popular mode silently removed ActivisionGunfight is an immensely popular game mode in the Call of Duty series, but is it in Modern Warfare 2? Let’s take a look and find out. There are tons of game modes in Modern Warfare 2, and those are constantly changing as players find new ways to play and focus on their preferred modes. However, despite this, one game mode retains its position as one of the most loved experiences: Gunfight. Combining intense multiplayer battles with a capture-the-flag style element, Gunfight is undeniably a fan favorite among multiple CoD games – but is it in the Modern Warfare sequel? Let’s take a look and find out. Contents: Does Modern Warfare 2 have Gunfight? Unfortunately, after the release of Modern Warfare 2 Season 4 Reloaded, the game doesn’t have Gunfight. The mode was removed in the latest update, despite being in the game from Season 3. No reasoning was given for the game modes removal, which has naturally left fans confused and frustrated. Will Gunfight come back to Modern Warfare 2? Currently, there is no word on when Gunfight will come back into Modern Warfare 2, or even if it will ever come back in the future. It could be that the developers took the mode away to do some work on it, or they took it to focus on other popular game modes. Although this is all speculation, and we don’t have any information on its return yet. When more information is released regarding Gunfight, we will be updating this article so be sure to check back soon. What is Gunfight? Gunfight is a multiplayer game mode that was introduced to the Call of Duty series in Modern Warfare 2019. It also returned in Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Mobile. It is a 2v2 mode, with players given 40 seconds to eliminate the enemy duo. If the time limit is reached and neither team is killed, a flag spawns in the map’s center and teams have 10 seconds to catch it. Variants of Gunfight were also released across the three titles, with 1v1, 3v3 and sniper-only versions dropped. Is Everyone AFRAID of “SCARY” Dallas Empire? CDL Review – Dexerto
Is Everyone AFRAID of “SCARY” Dallas Empire? CDL Review Activision The final CDL Home Series of the 2021 season is over, with the climax of the Seattle Home Series putting an end to Stage 5’s regular-season excitement and leading players and fans alike to the Stage 5 Major and Champs. We saw some shock results, players turning the burners on to blow away their competition and the seeding for the biggest events of the year take shape. LA Thieves secured a huge reverse sweep over OpTic Chicago, while Dallas Empire locked in the 1st seed in Group B with an emphatic victory over Toronto Ultra. To break down all the biggest wins and losses from the week, join Reverse Sweep’s Katie Bedford, Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt and Jonathan ‘Pacman’ Tucker as they dive into the juiciest storylines. LA Thieves make the comeback As Katie eloquently points out, the Thieves got truly bodied in the first two maps of their Seattle Home Series matchup with OpTic Chicago. Things quickly turned around, though, winning three maps on the bounce to make the comeback against all odds. “I thought it was going to be a quick 3-0, but I was happy to see the resilience out of Thieves,” explained Enable. “We know that they’re talented, we’ve seen it all year long… It was a good win for their confidence, hopefully they can use that to get on the right track and beat the teams they’re supposed to beat.” The Major will be a huge test for LA Thieves, and will be the time to not only secure a better Champs seeding, but give the rest of the field something to worry about. Dallas hitting Champs form? Knew Empire were winning when Crim got in his cam’s face like that 😭pic.twitter.com/XsXApEFBPA — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) July 25, 2021 Pacman explains that “Dallas are at the top of their game, and that’s scary for everyone else.” He’s not wrong, either. Dallas didn’t look like true championship contenders for most of the season, but with Vivid truly finding his place on the roster, they’re becoming formidable opponents. “Beating Toronto again proves their consistency,” Pacman adds. “It proves that they’re here to stay. Dallas are just taking care of business, beating Toronto who have been at the top since Stage 2.” The Major will be a true indication of where Dallas stands, with Enable thinking they could actually win it. For now, it’s looking pretty good for them. Most clutch moments The defining plays in a team or player’s career are those clutch moments where things look like they’re over, before being brought back in dramatic fashion and everything falls into place. But which were the most clutch moments at the Seattle Home Series? “It’s got to be the Reverse Sweep from LAT,” says Enable, giving his choice for most clutch moment. “This was a huge win for them. Being able to reverse sweep OpTic, one of the hottest teams in the game, is huge for their confidence going forward… It showed that they can compete with the best teams in the game.” Read More: Seattle Home Series: Team of the Week & MVP – Pacman went a different direction, impressed by Minnesota RØKKR’s turnaround. He said: “They came out and looked really, really good. In the past they would falter with their Hardpoint setups. Often they would end up getting control but they would get broken so quickly. That didn’t happen this weekend.” Seattle Home Series MVPs The MVP award is often given to players who make complete statistical anomalies of themselves or made clutch plays to earn the win. It’s sometimes a matter of personal opinion, and Enable and Pacman were more than happy to give theirs. Pacman is the first to choose his MVP, giving it to RØKKR’s Dillon ‘Attach’ Price after leading his team to a huge victory over Florida Mutineers. “Having the confidence to make that kind of individual play [when down in S&D], that’s huge. And Attach has always been such a stone-cold S&D player, but to see him do it in that kind of moment was big.” Enable, on the other hand, earmarks OpTic Chicago’s Seth ‘Scump’ Abner, who is truly reclaiming his nickname of The King. “I think he’s been playing lights out,” Enable explained. “It’s not only his stats. He’s just been clutching up, whether it be in respawns, S&D, he is making the plays. I know the whole team is doing really well, but I feel like Seth has stepped it up to where he has been very consistent in this game.” 2.75 K/D for Foam Runner Scumper in Game 1 🤷♂️ pic.twitter.com/o44yeVcP7W — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) July 24, 2021 Least Valuable Players On the other side of the spectrum, some players struggled at the Seattle Home Series, ultimately preventing their team from grinding out the wins. Enable’s LVP pick went to the entire Florida Mutineers team. “They did it again. They started out really hot… and then they just fall through. It wasn’t even competitive, they looked completely lost on the map.” Pacman’s choice for LVP went to someone who didn’t even play: Subliners’ James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks. “I do truly hope that he’s okay… but you’re supposed to be the leader for these guys, leading them to the promised land. To take a break now, when your team is struggling, to me is weak. You’re leaving the rest of them out to dry.” Be sure to watch full video above for more thoughts on Clayster, OpTic Chicago’s future, Toronto Ultra’s Champs hopes and more on the Reverse Sweep Review Show.

Is Dark Matter camo returning to CoD Mobile? Devs update players on future camos – Dexerto
Is Dark Matter camo returning to CoD Mobile? Devs update players on future camos ActivisionHaving different completionist camos has always been a big ask from Call of Duty Mobile fans, with Dark Matter ranking atop the most requested charts. So, here’s what we know about its possible return. For years, Call of Duty players have asked for a game that takes a little bit from previous games and puts it under one umbrella. On console, that’s not happened – even though we have had a few fan-favorites being remade. Call of Duty Mobile fills that void, though, by taking fan favorites features, weapons, modes, maps, and characters and putting them all into one game. Though, one thing has been lacking for the most part – completionist camos. These camos, like Dark Matter, Diamond, and Gold have been available in other CoD games before, but only sparingly in CoD Mobile. Will Dark Matter return to CoD Mobile? Diamond camo was finally made available not too long ago, but Dark Matter, which has only been released for the ICR-1 and Razorback still remains a popular request from fans. With each new update, the devs field questions about its return, and they’ve lifted the lid on the possibility a few times, including on February 6. “We also love the epic and well known Dark Matter camo,” they said, noting how they’ve not used in the same completionist way as other games. “We aren’t quite sure on the future of that one as a result of that murkiness with it being an earned camo vs a paid camo. It may return in the future, but at the moment there aren’t any immediate plans to do so.” Comment byu/COD_Mobile_Official from discussion inCallOfDutyMobile As the devs note, it is a different one to figure out, but they’ve not closed the door on the chance of it happening. At the end of the day, they also left the door open for a Diamond camo return and that happened. So, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Is Cold Blooded broken in Black Ops 4 Multiplayer? – Dexerto
Is Cold Blooded broken in Black Ops 4 Multiplayer? Many of the perks in Black Ops 4 Multiplayer give players huge advantages that make them essential to high performance, but things may not be that straightforward in the case of Cold Blooded. Cold Blooded goes in the second perk slot in Black Ops 4 and gives players an increased resistance to many of the game’s Scorestreaks. With players always looking for a leg up on the competition, Cold Blooded seemingly is a good choice to protect you from the pesky game-changing Scorestreaks. But how well does the perk actually perform? Call of Duty expert and popular YouTuber ‘TheXclusiveAce’ has decided to take a deep dive into the perk to give everyone an idea of just how effective Cold Blooded truly is. “In the past, most of the time with Cold Blooded or Blind Eye – the types of perks that protect you from streaks – they will completely protect you from streaks,” says TheXclusiveAce about how the perk used to perform. He clarifies that with Cold Blooded in Black Ops 4, you only gain “increased resistance” against streaks rather than actually receiving immunity, which is where the problems begin to come in. For the vast majority of the streaks, the resistance given by Cold Blooded is almost negligible. In the case of the RC-XD, Lightning Strike, Drone Squad, Mantis, Thresher, and Gunship, the streaks act exactly the same while using Cold Blooded. The RC-XD was perhaps the most egregious offender of any Scorestreak, as the same red diamond shows up even if you are using Cold Blooded, making the perk virtually useless. There were some streaks that did give players a slight advantage, however. For the Sentry Gun, Sniper’s Nest, and Attack Helicopter, players using Cold Blooded are given an extra couple seconds before being targeting, which allows just enough time for a quick evasive maneuver or the ability to get a rocket off. At the end of the day, though, Cold Blooded doesn’t give players enough of an advantage for TheXclusiveAce to find much use in the perk. “Is Cold Blooded broken? Technically not, but it’s not quite as powerful as people would like it to be and I would agree with that,” he says in conclusion. “I do think Cold Blooded could use a slight buff.” TheXclusiveAce goes on to speculate that Cold Blooded was actually nerfed between the beta and release since the perk made players completely immune to streaks in the beta, causing many to complain about having their streaks neutralized. Given that Treyarch has been actively looking into various issues throughout all modes of Black Ops 4, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see this get a slight buff sometime soon.

Is Call of Duty Black Ops 6 coming to Game Pass? – Dexerto
Is Call of Duty Black Ops 6 coming to Game Pass? ActivisionCall of Duty Black Ops 6 is fast approaching, but will this year’s new iteration find its way to Game Pass after Activision’s acquisition by Microsoft? After three years of trials and tribulations, Microsoft finally closed its purchase of Activision Blizzard at the tail end of 2023, a historic deal costing them $68.7 billion. And, while the previous acquisition of ZeniMax saw most of the publishing giant’s IP arrive on Game Pass right away, things have been slightly different with Activision Blizzard. The first titles have only recently begun rolling out on the subscription service, with Diablo 4 making first its way to Game Pass on March 28. Naturally, there has been plenty of speculation surrounding the status of Activision’s pride and joy, Call of Duty. Will the series find its way to Game Pass? Here’s what you need to know. Is Capture The Flag coming to Modern Warfare? – Dexerto
Is Capture The Flag coming to Modern Warfare? A notable exclusion at the release ofCall of Duty franchise in the very near future. While Modern Warfare released with numerous maps that have since agitated professional players and former developers alike, one of the most controversial focal points in the community has centered around the list of game types available at launch. Despite being featured in the first iteration of the competitive ruleset, the same guidelines that 2020 Call of Duty League teams are to compete under, Hardpoint has only been accessible in private matches for instance. Meanwhile, popular modes throughout previous entries in the series have been missing entirely. A new listing in-game could hint towards a big change coming in the near future, however. Ahead of an imminent update set to address numerous critical issues from claymores to footstep audio, eagle-eyed players spotted a new listing in the leaderboards. When searching through leaderboards for overall statistics, an option becomes available to filter by specific game modes. It is here that the popular competitive game type of Capture The Flag is surprisingly listed. 600Absent from the previous year of competitive play as Black Ops 4 promoted Search and Destroy, Hardpoint, and Control instead, CTF had been a staple in boots-on-the-ground iterations. With major spawning issues currently plaguing Hardpoint, it will be interesting to see if the list of competitive game modes for 2020 gets an update as and when CTF becomes playable. Also frustrating the community, Domination is set to be featured as a competitive game mode for the first time since Call of Duty Ghosts was released in 2013. As Reddit user ‘Nocheese22’ expressed, “Domination is the most boring game type to watch. Hopefully CTF will replace, way more exciting in my opinion.” With enough backlash from dedicated players and professionals currently practicing for the upcoming season, perhaps Infinity Ward will alter the competitive ruleset and implement Capture The Flag instead. There’s no telling just when the game mode might become available in public lobbies, however, with a clear indication spotted in the leaderboards a release could be imminent. Potentially the biggest update thus far, a huge patch is set to drop in the very near future with goals of fixing annoying claymores, ridiculous shotguns, and so much more. Perhaps this update could be when Capture The Flag comes online.

Is Capture the Flag coming to Modern Warfare 3? – Dexerto
Is Capture the Flag coming to Modern Warfare 3? ActivisionCapture the Flag is a classic Call of Duty mode that has not been seen in the recent Sledgehammer Games-ran Modern Warfare 3, but is it on the way? Capture the Flag is a classic Call of Duty mode that is seen throughout the franchise and even in other FPS shooters. The gameplay is simple as well, as two teams try to steal each other’s flags while simultaneously protecting their own. Modern Warfare 3 is the most recent edition in the franchise and is already in its second season of content, but has yet to add that mode to the rotation. Is Capture the Flag coming to Call of Duty MW3? Sledgehammer Games has hinted that Capture the Flag is making its debut in MW3 but has not confirmed it. The developer responded to a Reddit thread about what modes or operators players want to see and left an eye emoji, signaling players to watch out, under one player asking for Capture the Flag’s introduction. This doesn’t mean that the mode is coming anytime soon. However, the developer now knows what players are looking for in the newest CoD title, and could start working on it. Capture the Flag was a staple Call of Duty mode up until MW3, appearing at launch, in Ranked play, or as a season-exclusive. In Season 2 Reloaded, players were introduced to two entirely new game modes from Sledgehammer: Bounty and Juggermosh. Bounty is a TDM variant while Juggermosh is part of the Warhammer 40K crossover. The developer seems keen on crafting new kinds of modes for players to master before the season concludes. So there is a chance that players will see more new modes before CTF returns to the rotation, or possibly a variation on the classic game.

You should be able to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty : Black Ops 4 again. Thank you for your reports. Happy gaming! https://t.co/D52PAtrAfz — Xbox Support (@XboxSupport) March 21, 2020 Xbox Live players in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Black Ops 4 have reported a widespread outage, preventing them from logging into the network on March 21. Players started reporting the problem on sites like Twitter, where they also vented frustration about the service being down or inaccessible for thousands of people. The official Xbox Support Twitter updated players and said that they were “aware that some of you might be having issues with playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4,” and promised to keep fans informed of any future updates. Whatever is causing the problems, it’s just the latest issue CoD players on Xbox Live have had to deal with in the past week, alone. On March 15, the service kicked players offline for a couple of hours before things got back on track later in the day – and that came after another outage the day before. are the #modernwarfare servers down rn ? or is it just me ? @CallofDutyDE @CallofDuty — (marc) (@FrostyWolfTTV) March 21, 2020 The bad news is that these outages seem to be happening more frequently, which makes sense, since more people are on getting Xbox Live while they’re home all day due to current global affairs. There is some good news, though; these problems seem to have been fixed fairly quickly by Microsoft thus far, so hopefully CoD players on Xbox aren’t left in the cold for too long. This latest outage doesn’t seem to be as widespread as ones in the past either, so there’s a good chance you might not even be affected when you log in. At the time of writing, both games still seem to be unable to connect to Xbox Live for some players, and there’s no word exactly as to when they’ll be back online. This article is currently being updated.

Is Call of Duty drama good for the CDL? OpTic’s Scump and FormaL weigh in – Dexerto
Is Call of Duty drama good for the CDL? OpTic’s Scump and FormaL weigh in YouTube: OpTic ChicagoCompetitive Call of Duty drama has been back in full swing lately but is it actually good for the scene? OpTic Chicago’s Seth ‘Scump’ Abner and Matthew ‘FormaL’ Piper weighed in on the recent arguments. When the biggest names in CoD go at it on social media, things tend to get fairly heated. From franchise owners to former commentators, the latest batch of drama had almost everyone chiming in. While it might have served as some entertainment for fans throughout the day, did it actually leave a good impression for the Call of Duty League? Two of the most experienced players in Scump and FormaL weighed in during the March 4 OpTic pre-show. From Scump’s perspective, it’s both “good and bad” for the scene. “It makes us look like idiots,” he explained. “But it also makes for more storylines.” With members of 100 Thieves recently going blow for blow with Dallas Empire’s CEO Mike ‘Hastr0’ Rufail, it caught the attention of everyone in the League. This hostility helped create a more intriguing storyline, according to the T2P duo. “It’s good for the storylines,” Scump said. “It definitely makes it a little more hype in certain matchups. Now, whenever Dallas and [LA Thieves] play, everyone’s gonna be loving that.” No strangers to trash-talking in their own amusing ways, FormaL recently argued that anyone offended is simply “soft.” Though if teams are going at it, he prefers for the beef to start in a genuine way. “I like when it comes more naturally,” the former world champion said. The latest drama might have been too artificial to do the scene any favors, according to FormaL. “Hastr0 kind of went in for no reason.” The relevant topic begins at the 24:10 mark below. Is Black Ops 6 coming to PS4 & Xbox One? – Dexerto
Is Black Ops 6 coming to PS4 & Xbox One? ActivisionAnticipation for Black Ops 6 is building as Call of Duty gears up for its latest installment in the Fall, but will the upcoming game release on the PS4 and Xbox One? Black Ops 6 is confirmed and on the way, marking the return of the Black Ops series for the first time since 2020’s Black Ops Cold War. However, some fans have been left concerned about BO6 after leaks claimed that CoD’s next installment was still coming to last-gen consoles as well, and for full price, despite almost being four years into the current-gen. So here is everything you need to know about Black Ops 6 and the rumors last-gen release. Is Black Ops 6 releasing on PS4 & Xbox One? According to a GameStop pre-order listing for Black Ops 6, the game will be releasing on the PS4. Although it makes no mention of the Xbox One, Insider Gaming went on to report that the game will be coming to Xbox One as well. According to Insider Gaming’s report, the reason why the Xbox One doesn’t appear in GameStop’s listing is because the S|X version is a cross-generation version that will be playable on the Xbox One as well. However, despite the leaks, Activision themselves is yet to confirm BO6’s release for last-gen consoles, but will most likely do so as part of the June 9 CoD Direct. The past four CoD entries; Black Ops Cold War, Vanguard, MW2, and MW3 all released on last-gen consoles as well on the current gen, and Black Ops 6 looks to be following the same trend as well. As for a Nintendo Switch release, although Microsoft did sign a 10-year agreement in February 2023 to bring CoD to the Switch, there hasn’t been any confirmation of BO6 coming to the Switch or Switch 2.

Is Activision set to make Blackout and Overwatch free to play? – Dexerto
Is Activision set to make Blackout and Overwatch free to play? Activision will lean towards an Epic Games-style model in 2019 by making both Overwatch and Call of Duty: Blackout free to play, a gaming analyst says. Epic enjoyed great success in 2018 when it came to generating interest and profits from its popular battle royale game Fortnite, and Activision has publicly admitted that it has had an impact on their business. Now, gaming analyst Michael Pachter from Wedbush Securities believes that the developer will adopt the same ‘free to play’ tactics for both Overwatch and Call of Duty in the coming year. “I think that the 18 Overwatch League owners have been assured by Blizzard that it will expand the audience for Overwatch,” Pachter wrote for GamesIndustry.biz. “The most expedient way to do this is to make the core game free-to-play in order to attract tens of millions of new users, who ostensibly will convert to OWL viewers.” The gaming analyst expected this change by mid-June, which will mark the third anniversary of the original game’s launch. He also believes that the developer will hand out skins and other cosmetic items for players who bought the core game, before it’s made free for all. Pachter predicted last year that a battle royale mode would be introduced to the Call of Duty franchise and he was certainly right about that. The new ‘Blackout’ game mode was announced in May last year and contributed towards Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 generating $500 million from the first three days it was on sale. But next, he thinks the franchise will go a step further. “Blackout will go FTP at least a month prior to the launch of next year’s Call of Duty, in order to promote the new game,” Pachter added. Whether or not Activision make these moves throughout 2019 remains to be seen and the publisher has yet to comment on any of these predictions.

Iron Trials is exactly what Warzone needs to be a truly competitive game – Dexerto
Iron Trials is exactly what Warzone needs to be a truly competitive game ActivisionOn Thursday, September 16, Warzone launched its new Iron Trials ‘84 mode. Making for a significantly tougher battle in Verdansk, it is made truly for elite players — and could be the blueprint for a truly competitive esport in Warzone. While many top players are competing for thousands of dollars in Warzone week in and week out, you’d have a hard time convincing esports purists that it’s a real esport. Much of the game is significantly anti-competitive. With map design that greatly benefits rooftop campers, a lightning-fast Time-to-Kill (TTK), and some serious RNG among other things, you can see why some would be quick to criticize the game as non-competitive. While Iron Trials might not be the perfect battle royale mode — you’d be hard pushed to find any BR that is — it definitely represents a step in the right direction for the cream of the crop, with a far more pronounced skill gap driving them above and beyond. What is Iron Trials ’84 in Warzone? If you haven’t checked out the Iron Trials ‘84 mode in Warzone yet, it offers a very different experience to the core BR. There are a number of major changes including (but not limited to) the following: Round Timers and Circle Collapse slowed by 12% — shaves around two minutes off of the game time. – No free Loadout Drops – Increased Buy Station prices, including $16k for Loadout Drops – Base health increased from 100 to 250, with slowed health regeneration too – Only vehicles are ATV and Dirt Bike – While there are many more changes, these are among the biggest, and the ones that will be most immediately noticeable to players. In a game where the skill gap is rather thin, Iron Trials ’84 exacerbates it greatly. Why is this a better competitive Warzone mode? There is a multitude of reasons why Iron Trails offers a more complete competitive experience. The TTK alone is a huge factor. The change is definitely one you’ll feel in gunfights, but this is a stark contrast to the regular Warzone modes, where you’ll often feel like you’ve been instantly melted. The increased health allows you to better plan your gunfights, as well as find cover when rotating. Not only that, but it also gives the best players more of an opportunity to outplay opponents in scenarios where they find themselves taking on multiple enemies at once. At its core, though, this also means that the players who shoot straightest are often rewarded in 1-on-1 gunfights, and you can’t ask for much more than that. On top of that, the lack of free loadouts forces players to pick their classes wisely, as you might only get the chance at picking up one thanks to the increased prices. This does make it much harder to regain after a trip to the Gulag — too hard, perhaps to the detriment of the mode entirely — but you also do get blessed with your Gulag weapons when flying back in, so it’s not an impossible feat. Will Iron Trials actually feature in tournaments? It’s not clear whether Iron Trials is likely to become a mode used by Activision and other tournament organizers going forward. It’s unlikely it fully replaces regular BR, but some pros and streamers have shared their enjoyment when playing it. For example, 100 Thieves’ Tommey said that he finds the game to play “extremely well.” Iron Trials ’84 actually feels and plays extremely well (from my limited time playing it). It’s nice having longer gun fights, especially at range and the fact it gives you extra outplay options in 1vX scenarios. How’re you guys finding it? — Tommey (@Tommey) September 16, 2021 CouRage said that Iron Trials should be “the future of Warzone Ranked modes.” I’ve been EXTREMELY critical of Warzone lately, but… Iron Trials ‘84 is AWESOME. -2.5x health -Way less UAV spam -Stuns 50% less strong -Feels much more tactical -Rewards guns kill and team workThis should be the future of Warzone Ranked modes. SO SO DOPE. — Jack “CouRage” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) September 16, 2021 Meanwhile, HusKerrs would even like to see some of the changes made permanent in regular BR. Thanks! Loving the Iron Trials mode, tons of really good changes in there that in my opinion should be permanent in the regular BR modes (increased health, decreased stun time, no deady/stopping, etc) — HusKerrs (@HusKerrs) September 17, 2021 MuTeX offered a similar sentiment, saying that he would like to see the base health raised to somewhere in between regular BR and Iron Trials. He also adds that the mode “shows the skill gap in players if you have the better shot and movement.” Iron trials is super fun Shows the skill gap in players if you have the better shot and movement. I also think that they should change the ttk in regular br to something similar. NOT THE SAME but similar. So instead of 250 maybe make it 175 Or 185. The ground loot is also perfect — Charles (@MuTeX) September 17, 2021 Of course, with Warzone esports still in relevant infancy, the pros have a lot of influence over the direction of competition. They boycotted timed kill races and we’ve quickly seen them eradicated from tournaments. What’s to say they couldn’t do similar for Iron Trials? If Activision are looking at building out the Warzone esports infrastructure and creating the best competitive experience possible, Iron Trials should, at the very least, be looked at for inspiration.

Iron Trials ’84 returns to Warzone with major changes for Season 6 – Dexerto
Iron Trials ’84 returns to Warzone with major changes for Season 6 ActivisionWarzone is bringing back Iron Trials ‘84 one of the community’s favorite LTM. While this mode will just be around for a couple of days, there are some big changes for it in Season 6 as the mode is now Quads. In Iron Trials, players have more health, which means that all the TTKs in the game are a lot higher than the normal BR. When this mode came in Season 5, players were in love with it as it is a great competitive mode and want it to stick around permanently. With the launch of Season 6, Raven Software are bringing Iron Trials back but this time in a Quads format and specific rules. Warzone Iron Trials ‘84 returns with Quads Iron Trials is now available for all players to access starting October 8, at 10 AM PST. This is a “weekend-exclusive playlist” that will remain live until October 11, at 10 AM PST. While the mode is active, it will feature a Quads format, meaning players can team up with three more people to take on the challenge. Since there will be more people in gunfights at a time, there are some specific changes coming. Here is a list of all the changes that are coming to Quads: Buy Station Specialist Token has been removed. – – Equipment Medical Syringe now heals 25% faster. – – Gulag Loadouts have been updated. – Loadout primary Weapon Attachments increased from 2 to 3. – – Loot Specialist Token now drops on death. – Classified Weapons have been updated. – Foresight has been added as an exceedingly rare drop. – – Player Base health regen speed has been increased. – – Vehicles Tac Rovers have been enabled. – – Weapons Sniper Rifle headshot down distance increased to 50 meters. – Sniper Rifle headshot damage beyond 50 meters has been increased from 300 to 325. – – The biggest change comes with the Medical Syringe as it now heals 25% faster, making this extremely valuable in a loadout. Another big change comes with the addition of Specialist Tokens dropping on death, giving players are incentive to take fights. Despite these changes, player’s health remains the same and there is still no Dead Silence or Stopping Power. All of these changes are certain to impact the way Iron Trials plays. While it is just around for the short weekend, this could be Raven Software’s way of testing different formats before bringing the mode back permanently.

Invincible “God Mode” hackers are sabotaging Warzone matches – Dexerto
Invincible “God Mode” hackers are sabotaging Warzone matches Infinity WardA Warzone match that came down to six players was heavily one-sided after the remaining squad was convinced they were up against a “God Mode” hacker who couldn’t even be shot at. It didn’t take long after at all for cheaters to infiltrate Modern Warfare’s servers. From the game’s Multiplayer component to the free-to-play battle royale, there’s been a heavy presence of people hacking in numerous matches. Everything from the typical wallhacks to speed hacks have been employed by Warzone cheaters, but sometimes the game’s glitches can make it seem like a OP hacker is taking control of a game. Rarely taking down the typical cheater – resulting in an instant feeling almost as gratifying as winning a Warzone match. Though that wasn’t to be for user ‘The___Shadow’ who thinks they encountered a new type of hacker all together. After taking the high-ground on a building in Torsk Bloc, the three-member squad felt comfortable about their chances of winning out in the Warzone match, especially when someone was walking on the ground being pushed in by the closing gas. The___Shadow and their friends immediately noticed something was amiss when their crosshairs were dead-locked on the lone survivor, but the shots weren’t actually landing. Instead, the player on the floor was unphased by the reign of gunfire only to return pinpoint accurate hits. Even when the gas was swarming into blanket the scene, did the player just casually gun down the squad. “New Type of Hacker?” Shadow surmised. “God Mode, no hit markers, and protection from gas. Really dampens the mood to get 2nd to a hacker.”’ More players reported coming across the same kind of player where they couldn’t be shot at or die from Warzone’s gas. Though some people suspected it had to do with a respawn glitch that has been popping up from time to time in Warzone. “This happened to me last night,” user ‘freboto’ said. “I became invincible after a glitch where I was not able to jump out of the plane. I died and did not go to the gulag. When my teammates got me back in from a buy station I was invincible but didn’t realize before the final circle.” In either case, this would be something that the Infinity Ward devs patch up to prevent more Warzone matches from being sabotaged by these sorts of instances.

Insane “invincibility” bug found in Modern Warfare multiplayer – Dexerto
Insane “invincibility” bug found in Modern Warfare multiplayer An “invincibility” glitch in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare appears throughout the game, mainly when players equip certain items in loadouts. While Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s launch has seen millions of players log into the game, there’s been a load of glitches uncovered that’s hampering people’s experience. From players covertly going through doors from unfortunate hit registration issues found across matches, the game’s multiplayer features a classic CoD format but with new bugs layered in its design. In a Reddit post, user ‘chowsk33’ uploaded a clip, which at first seems like an annoying case of hitbox issues. But after multiple attempts (and angles) to shoot the opponent, it seems like the player encountered an instance of the invincibility glitch. “Well, you can tell he doesn’t know he’s invincible,” user ‘Traskerin’ said. “He is taking cover behind a wall instead of blazing in standing up.” While it’s unknown how the bug works at present, many other users began posting their own examples, showing how far-reaching the glitch could be. “It’s not you dude,” user ‘A_Russian_Tazer’ said in reply to chowsk. “The Riot Shield is completely bugged out, and I’ve had it where I’ve become invincible, and the only thing I could do was execute people.” Many users have continued to upload videos and clips using the Riot Shield to raise awareness of the bug. Similar to chowsk’s clip, the players in this next clip are not taking damage despite being hit by multiple shots. It seems like Call of Duty players are rallying together to get the dev’s awareness since dealing with players who equip Riot Shields can be a hassle, let alone if they’re purposefully exploiting the glitch. There are players in the game that seem to be using the glitch to their advantage, so the community at large should be careful until Infinity Ward patches the glitch out of Modern Warfare.

Interview: Call of Duty developers break down map design process from start to finish – Dexerto
Interview: Call of Duty developers break down map design process from start to finish ActivisionFrom rough sketches on notepads to iconic landmarks millions still admire more than a decade down the line, how do Call of Duty maps spring to life? We spoke with two of Infinity Ward’s most experienced multiplayer leads to get the full rundown on each stage of the process. Over the past 20 years, the CoD franchise has seen 19 mainline entries. Throughout the stretch, factoring in DLC map packs, seasonal support, and the like, by our calculations there have been no less than 500 original multiplayer maps (yes, we really counted). That’s without including redesigns or revamped versions of existing layouts, mind you. With each annual entry providing roughly a dozen new maps on average, and the following year of additional content often doubling the count and then some, it’s safe to say designers are always keeping plenty busy. Is every single map a surefire contender for the hypothetical FPS Hall of Fame? Not quite. But among that extraordinarily large yet still ever-growing list, we’ve been given some objective all-time greats in the genre. Peeling back the curtain in an uncharacteristically candid interview, Infinity Ward’s Multiplayer Design Directors Joseph Cecot and Geoff Smith outlined the full development process that’s served the CoD development team well for all these years. From early beginnings as hasty drawings on loose paper to the final layers of polish in-game, here’s how some of your favorites have been brought to life. The ideation stage: Forming a well-rounded list of “songs on an album” As with all things, the very first step is for developers to latch onto a new idea. Now exactly where these ideas come from, however, can be different day in and day out, Smith told us. “There’s a bit of a chicken and a bit of an egg.” On one hand, a selection of CoD’s most iconic maps may have been “inspired based on some images” particular developers came across while researching key locations. On the other hand, certain “super chunky layouts” may be blocked out in the engine before real-world inspiration is sought out. Theme and setting then applied after the fact. There’s no one way in which these ideas first come into focus, with the dev team more than willing to let employees run wild and pile up a considerable “backlog” while working through each new title. “We always ask the team to have sketches and ideas,” Smith said. “Even if they’re [actively] working on a map, we ask them, if you have ideas, just sketch some stuff out.” Together, they collect their strongest candidates with one common goal in mind. An entire CoD game can’t be filled to the brim with similar layouts achieving much the same thing. Rather, a broad mix is required to best serve all parts of the community, the devs explained, comparing a game’s set of maps to a “cast of characters. “You want a lot of different styles, from gameplay to settings. Back in the day, I was an old Counter-Strike player. You didn’t get to choose what map you had, the server just hit map after map after map. You should have these peaks and valleys, it’s intense, it’s slower, it presents this nice package of songs on an album,” Smith described. The planning stage: Where in the world could this map be set? Running concurrently with the above, devs on the multiplayer side have to be mindful of what their colleagues on the singleplayer team are working on. Aligning around theaters of war, specific locales, and perhaps even repurposing chunks of story mission layouts is all integral in the early stages of a new CoD cycle. Thus, collaborating across sectors is one of the first steps in production. “When we start making a game, we sit with singleplayer, think of the storyline and where it’s going to take place,” Smith outlined. “We try to share as much content as we can. We try to share these locations so we’re the most efficient we can be. Be we also try to deviate from those areas to keep a variety.” From there, with existing ideas sketched or blocked out already, now with a particular focus in mind, it’s then a matter of “doing a deep dive into reference,” he continued. That means finding appropriate locations for various layouts while also considering exactly what building blocks will be reflected as in a realistic, authentic manner. “With our stuff being so realistic, we try to find comparable places in the world it would be, especially with our big map stuff. We really look at infrastructure and how a place like that is constructed. Then it’s blocked out, which is LEGO-looking stuff. Then we get art involved, environment art. They’ll come in and say ‘What if we move this building down the street here?” During this initial step forward, as designs begin to take shape in 3D space, there’s still far more to consider than just the raw layout. From objective placements with flags, bomb sites, and more, to spawn logic across a litany of game modes and lobby sizes, it all requires a great deal of thought. In fact, as we learned, even just the time of day is something devs have to consider for each and every new location. As we’ve seen through the years, especially in more recent titles given the increased graphical fidelity, the wrong time of day can certainly lead to headaches. Beaming rays of sunlight obscuring your vision and all but leaving you with a constant flashbang effect is far from ideal, and it’s something devs are keenly aware of when it comes to building their latest maps. “I think overwhelmingly bright, daytime, blue sky maps, are the most popular,” Smith said. “Maybe that’s a psychological thing, people want to be happy and have a bright, sunny day. We tend to do some golden hour maps because that sun angle makes our game look really good. “But there’s always a back and forth with environment art. I explain to them that if you look at the way sports stadiums are set up, they build the things so the sun goes across the pitch, rather than in the eyes of one team or another. So we try to build the maps to align that way, so you’re not looking at a sun flare while you’re trying to shoot somebody. But it’s always tricky, someone’s always going to hit that angle and say ‘ahh, it’s horrible.’ While it may seem simple enough on the surface, even minor adjustments to a map’s time of day can have major implications. In particular, “readability” is a huge focal point throughout development, as teams work to ensure a smooth experience on every new battlefield. That means everything from “denoising a back wall to help silhouette players on certain sightlines,” to widespread changes on character models, “brightening up the shoulders and heads of players so they stand out in any lighting situation.” All while still maintaining CoD’s ambition for realism. “It’s mostly visibility and readability at the end of the day,” Smith continued. “I think art would try to make as cinematic and beautiful levels as they can, but at the end of the day, it’s functional art.” The testing stage: Not just a matter of playing Call of Duty “all day long” Now for the fun part. Well, at least fun in theory. In reality, that’s not always the case. With maps blocked out and artists beginning to apply their magic, playtests begin. It’s here where arguably the most important yet time-consuming work is done. With likely more than dozen maps in the oven for any given CoD title, and possibly a dozen launch playlists in which to cater for, playtesting isn’t quite as simple as it may seem on the surface. Which maps get the playtime on a given day? What modes are devs able to test? How on Earth can they possibly find the time to test every single map in every single scenario? Well, it’s a “tough” balancing act, Smith explained. “It’s funny, you can say ‘I work in video games and I play video games all day long.’ We do need to play the maps a lot, but we also do need to work. There’s at least an hour or two every day of playtests, maybe more as we get closer to launch. Everybody’s fighting for playtime with their maps. It’s tough. So we try to squeeze it in as best we can.” As you might expect, these sessions aren’t just a matter of kicking back and enjoying some CoD with the crew. Quite the opposite, in fact, as these daily tests are vital in collecting valuable feedback across the board. From adjusting more minor “action items” like angles on sightlines and spawn distance from objective locations, to more drastic tweaks that involve large-scale reworks involving the art team again, there’s a lot that only gets uncovered during these gameplay blocks. “We’ve come up with some little tricks here and there,” Smith said on how the team tries to stay on top of the seemingly insurmountable workload. “I think the trickiest stuff is the big map stuff. We actually break the map into those little POIs and playtest those. We can get way more mileage playing a TDM match on one little town, than we could hoping the final circle, or some part of the BR ends up there. Doing the best we can to play as much as we can.” Another such means of expediting the process is to prioritize certain game modes, Cecot chimed in. Given just how much variety a typical CoD release affords, it’s near-impossible to thoroughly evaluate every map on every mode. Thus, a handful of core modes are identified as staples and are utilized for the bulk of testing, he explained. “S&D, and Dom. You really want it to play those well,” Cecot said. “Then your more flexible modes like TDM and Kill Confirmed can be layered in after and it’s more about spawns at that point.” “We use TDM, S&D, and Dom as kind of the scaffolding,” Smith echoed. “And the other ones, we kind of do the best we can to fit them in. There’s a lot of different game modes that fit in there, but as long as we hit those three, those are the big three that engage the most. We kind of make do with the others.” Admittedly, “nothing feels worse” for the dev team than not having ample time to run every test they’d like. But always being on a tight turnaround, as studios rotate year after year on the CoD franchise, they don’t always have the luxury of ensuring every little quirk is ironed out before launch. “You’re either stuck asking forgiveness from art because you’re trying to move things and change things that are locked, or you’re having to live with it and solve it in other ways,” Cecot added. “That doesn’t feel good.” All up, devs are constantly seeking as much testing time as they can possibly afford before the release build goes gold and the studio largely pivots to post-launch support. That means more new maps, modes, and everything in between as the CoD community’s appetite for new content is always continuing to grow. This tried and true method has obviously been refined over the years, but for the most part, it’s this exact process that’s given us some of CoD’s most iconic maps. While some are jokingly referred to as happy accidents and others are designed purely for certain chunks of the community, there’s no denying the hectic workflow has pumped out some truly unforgettable maps we all look back on fondly.

Intervention sniper leaked for Modern Warfare and Warzone – Dexerto
Intervention sniper leaked for Modern Warfare and Warzone ActivisionCall of Duty: Modern Warfare’s next major update for Season 5 might be turning into the most highly anticipated yet, with one data miner finding different weapons in the game’s files – including the Intervention. The famed sniper rifle first appeared in the CoD series with MW2, where it was heralded as possibly the greatest quick scoping weapon much of the community had ever seen. [jwplayer pqm2EgOF]Since that time, many weapons from previous titles have sprung back onto the scene for nostalgia, and the fact that they’re so fun to play with, but the Intervention has somehow not been seen in an all-new CoD game since Infinite Warfare. Well, that could soon be about to change. The current set of sniper and marksman rifles in MW include the Rytec AMR, AX-50, Dragunov, HDR, Kar98k, MK2 Carbine, M14 EBR, SKS, and Crossbow, although that list looks set to be extended moving forward. Data miner BKTOOR has made some interesting discoveries in their recent sweep of the Modern Warfare, finding the ‘sn_romeo700’ and namedropping the Remington Model 700 in the tweet as well. Aside from that, they also posted an image of the Intervention as well. With new guns being added to the data files so soon after Season 4’s launch, fans may either see these released soon, or have to wait until the next big patch to get their hands on this loot. #تسريب ملفات خاصة بسلاح سنايبر جديد اسمه باللعبة sn_romeo700 ممكن يكون سنايبر بولت اكشن مثل : Remington Model 700 pic.twitter.com/mz8uAcFcBM— ᴮᴷᵀᴼᴼᴿ (@BKTOOR_) July 5, 2020 The leaker has proven to be accurate in previous data mines, and many fans will be hoping that the Intervention in some form will make its comeback sooner rather than later. As for the Remington, there are countless different versions of that weapon available which opens up the opportunity of many different blueprints headed to Modern Warfare in the future, too. It will be interesting to see how this one plays out, either way, and all eyes now turn to Infinity Ward to see what they have in store.

Insider claims Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will “change everything” – Dexerto
Insider claims Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will “change everything” ActivisionThe 2019 Call of Duty game, expected to be called Modern Warfare, will change the series on ‘so many different levels’, according to the YouTuber who first leaked the game’s title. Call of Duty YouTuber LongSensation was the first to reveal that Infinity Ward’s next game would simply be titled ‘Modern Warfare’, as opposed to Modern Warfare 4, and this was later confirmed by various sources. Activision and Infinity Ward are believed to have flown out a number of content creators to see the game early, including ProSyndicate, so it was only a matter of time until small nuggets of information came out. LongSensation already claimed that 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare would be the “most controversial” ever, following Kotaku’s report that the campaign was inspired by the ‘No Russian’ mission from Modern Warfare 2. Although news of the campaign will excite some fans, the main attraction for many is still the multiplayer, and LongSensation believes that “this year will revive Call of Duty” – if everything he has heard is accurate. “Think of everything you thought Activision/Call of Duty would never do, then they did it,” he explains, “We’re in for one hell of a year on so many different levels.” Honestly, if everything I’m hearing is true, then this year will revive Call of Duty. Think of everything you thought Activision/Call of Duty would never do, then they did it. This is me saying this as a CoD fan – We’re in for one hell of a year on so many different levels. — LongSensation (@LongSensationYT) May 28, 2019 LongSensation goes on to clarify that although the idea that the next CoD will “revive” the series is an old trope at this point, he reaffirms that the game is so revolutionary that his statement takes on a different weight this time around. Read More: Call of Duty 2019 reveal date leaked? – He claims that everything will change, from “the core game, the DLC, eSports and even the overall business model” – perhaps another nod to free-to-play. And I know “”this title will revive Call of Duty”” is said every year, but this title is so different on so many different levels. The core game, the DLC, eSports and even the overall business model of the game, everything will change. Stay tuned. — LongSensation (@LongSensationYT) May 28, 2019 Kotaku first reported that this year’s Call of Duty could feature a free-to-play “component”, most likely free DLC maps or content. LongSensation also dropped another hint towards free-to-play on Twitter, listing Modern Warfare alongside five well-known free games. Fortnite Apex Legends War Thunder Warface Paladins Call of Duty: Modern Warfare— LongSensation (@LongSensationYT) May 25, 2019 Call of Duty set all its social media channels to ‘dark’ on May 28, writing “going dark” in their Twitter bio, presumably gearing up for the big reveal. The reveal for Modern Warfare is expected on May 30, so there isn’t long to wait, and fans will likely see even more at E3 in June.

Warzone’s Attack Helicopters removed again due to new invisibility glitch – Dexerto
Warzone’s Attack Helicopters removed again due to new invisibility glitch ActivisionRaven Software have removed the recently-added Attack Helicopters from Warzone after players reported getting killed by completely invisible enemies. Invisibility isn’t a new feature in Warzone, with old glitches allowing players to go invisible by, for example, letting a Loadout Drop fall on them. Shortly after the Attack Helicopters were added back, players are once again literally hiding in plain sight in Verdansk, and it’s causing untold levels of anguish. A lot of players were relying on the Season 2 Reloaded patch to iron out a number of the game’s most frustrating bugs. Unfortunately, it appears the invisibility exploit has slipped through the cracks once again. If trying to play against the Roze skins wasn’t bad enough, this new bug makes Warzone look like Hogwarts, with invisibility cloaks in abundance. Warzone Invisibility bug returns after Reloaded update Despite reports of the bug occurring in Warzone games towards the end of March, players were hopeful that the Reloaded patch would address the issue. Unfortunately, as seen in one of its_iron’s streams following the update, the bug is still a problem and causing players to lose Warzone matches. Unlike the majority of videos showing the glitch, this clip highlights the exploit out in the open in the final ring of a match. Its_iron and his teammate are in the final stages of a game when they realize the enemy player is invisible. Despite attempts to run over the opponent or land a lucky stun, they’re unable to locate the invisible player and lose the match. Although it’s frustrating, there was very little either of them could have done to counter the exploit. Attack Helicopters removed in Warzone Shortly after news of the invisibility glitch’s return began spreading online, Raven added the issue to their Warzone Trello tracking board. Subsequently, they announced that the attack choppers were removed to combat the exploit. 🛠️ We’re removing the mini gun variant of the helicopter from #Warzone due to a new issue allowing players to become invisible. 🚁https://t.co/6VtbpyPCOJ — Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) April 1, 2021 Ironically, this is almost an identical repeat of the first time this became a big issue. These same choppers were disabled shortly after being initially added at the start of Season 1, once players figured out a way to use them to gain invisibility. Raven decided it was safe to add them back with the Season 2 Reloaded update, nearly two and a half months later, but they were clearly mistaken since the vehicle’s return was almost instantly followed by the invisibility exploit being used yet again. There is currently no timetable for when the Attack Helicopters will be added back in Warzone, but judging by how long it took for them to be brought back the first time, it could be a few months at the very least.

“Insanely broken” Warzone pistol deletes enemies in two shots – Dexerto
“Insanely broken” Warzone pistol deletes enemies in two shots ActivisionThere is an “insanely broken” pistol that deletes enemies in two shots in Warzone right now, and it’s all thanks to one attachment. With the release of Modern Warfare 3 back in November, Infinity Ward made one of the most unique changes to loadouts and create-a-class in quite some time, as they brought Aftermarket Parts and Conversion Kits into the mix. The Conversion Kits have helped create some of the most broken weapons that Call of Duty has ever seen – never mind Warzone – as LMGs have been turned into SMGs, snipers into shotguns, and so on. They typically come with a caveat and are fixed before long, but for those moments they’re around, there is a lot of fun to be had. Well, there is another one on the table right now. Remember the Tyr pistol and how broken that had been in the past? Well, it’s back. Warzone guru IceManIsaac has highlighted it as being “insanely broken” thanks to the JAK Beholder Rifle Kit. “What makes this Conversion Kit so special? If you are within 20 meters, which is any close-range gunfight, if you hit anywhere on the upper body – including arms – it is a two-shot kill. Making it kill even faster than the COR-45,” the YouTuber said. “355 ms [TTK]. That also means if you miss a bullet, because each bullet fires about every 170 ms, it will still kill in about 520 ms, which is still faster than the Striker 9!” Muzzle: T15R Billeted Brake L – Underbarrel: Bruen Pivot Vertical – Optic: Nydar Model 2023 – Trigger Action: Ullr’s Fury – Conversion Kit: JAK Beholder Rifle Kit – Timestamp of 18:25 Isaac added that while the pistol is essentially a “pocket shotgun,” it can also kill in three shots beyond 20 meters and that he’s had success challenging snipers with it. As noted, the Tyr was previously a popular option with Warzone players, and going back to it won’t be for everyone. However, it’s an incredibly dangerous gun up-close and could provide the perfect antidote to the melee weapons that are dominating there once again.

“Insane” Warzone SMG has deadly TTK to rival meta weapons – Dexerto
“Insane” Warzone SMG has deadly TTK to rival meta weapons ActivisionIf you’re looking for a new SMG to run in Warzone, well, there’s an “insane” option that has a deadly TTK and absolutely shreds enemies up close. Even though the clock is ticking on Warzone and the Modern Warfare 2 cycle, plenty of changes are still being made to the battle royale ahead of Modern Warfare 3’s imminent release on November 10. Most of these changes have come in the way of weapon balancing, with a host of guns being tweaked by the devs. The popular Lockwood 300 shotgun, Geist-76 assault rifle, and Kastov 762 have all suffered because of nerfs, falling down the meta rankings. Those changes have opened up spaces for others to thrive, and that includes the Iso 9MM. The SMG was introduced in Season 6, so it’s been around a while, but it is an “insane” choice now following all the other changes. Best ISO 9MM loadout for Warzone 2 Season 6 That’s according to Warzone guru WhosImmortal, who highlighted the Iso as one of the best guns in the game in his November 5 video on the new meta rankings. “Close-range, this thing is insane. It’s TTK in those first ten meters is right up there with the best of the best. Hip-fire is great, mobility is great,” he said, noting it has become his new “favorite” SMG in recent weeks. Like all good SMG builds, the ISO 9MM requires a bigger magazine, stock, and rear grip to meet its full potential. So, naturally, that’s where the 50-round mag, Res 2 Stock, and EXP Shear Rear Grip all come into play. Muzzle: Spiral V3.5 Flash Hider – Laser: VLK LZR 7Mw – Magazine: 50-round mag – Rear Grip: EXP shear – Stock: Res 2 – The ISO 9MM isn’t exactly going under the radar at the minute, with both the YouTuber and WZRanked placing it as one of the top 10 guns in the battle royale. However, given that it’s relatively new and many Warzone players are looking ahead to MW3, they may have overlooked it just a tad. So, be sure to give it a try.

“Insane” Warzone hitscan rifle absolutely dominates with unique build – Dexerto
“Insane” Warzone hitscan rifle absolutely dominates with unique build ActivisionWarzone expert WhosImmortal has highlighted a Modern Warfare 3 rifle that is ‘hitscan’ with one unique build, and it deletes enemies at almost any range. Over the years, Warzone has had its fair share of broken weapons, including those that players believe are hitscan. The hitscan phrase has been tossed about by fans at times, claiming that some weapons are in a spot where players don’t have to adjust their aim for enemy movement or because of the range. This has included the likes of the MP5, the AX-50, Fennec, Sakin MG, and P90 – all of which were nerfed not long after they became a widespread problem. It’s been a while since one popped up in the battle royale, but that is changing thanks to the MCW 6.8 as a unique setup helps the Marksman Rifle pack a deadly punch. Warzone expert WhosImmortal was the one to highlight the unique MCW 6.8 loadout, saying it has a “crazy” hitscan feel with an “insane” bullet velocity. That is also thanks to the 6.8 Wrath Spire Point rounds as they boost the weapon’s bullet velocity by 49%. “I don’t know if that’s intended or not, it’s been like this for a bit, I assumed it was a bug, but it’s been around now,” the YouTuber said. He also noted that the VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor also boosts the velocity up to 1800 m/s. “1800 velocity is the closest thing, essentially, to hitscan that you could possibly get yourself. It is absolutely overkill but it’s also so good. You point and click on them at any range with this gun and that shot is going to hit them,” he added. Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor – Barrel: MCW Crown-30 barrel – Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x – Magazine: 60-round drum – Ammunition: 6.8 Wrath Spire Point rounds – WhosImmortal added that hitscan class isn’t just a gimmick either and can be a competitive part of the meta. It remains to be seen if it will catch on as players may prefer an MCW loadout built for more aiming stability, but it’s clearly deadly.

Insane Warzone glitch gives players infinite respawns on Rebirth Island – Dexerto
Insane Warzone glitch gives players infinite respawns on Rebirth Island ActivisionRebirth Island has barely been live for a week in Warzone and yet players have already uncovered a game-breaking issue that’s providing an infinite number of lives on the new map. Blackout’s Alcatraz is back in full force as small lobbies drop into the mix for fast-paced battle royale gameplay. One unique twist to Warzone’s Rebirth Island is that players can respawn and try their luck again if they’re taken out. This leads to some intense encounters with teams constantly redeploying. However, it comes with a limit. Eventually, there must be a winner, so respawns are limited. Though there’s a new exploit working against these rules. Teams have accidentally stumbled upon a game-breaking bug that allows for infinite respawns. No matter how many times they’re knocked out, regardless of gas taking up the entire map, this glitch kept them dropping back in on repeat. 30 players remained in the regular Rebirth Island lobby on December 20. Nothing out of the ordinary seemed to happy up until Reddit user ‘moi865’ was taken out of commission. Instead of their countdown reaching zero and letting them redeploy, they were trapped. A teammate left the game right at this split second, causing their view to remain stuck in one place. There was no way to redeploy or even move the camera around. However, their final remaining teammate had some better luck. They were able to respawn again and again without issue. The game completely bugged out, giving infinite lives and paving the way for a free win. No matter how many times their ally died, they simply couldn’t lose. Even the gas wasn’t enough to stop them as they could just redeploy once again. Toxic gas took over the entire map. It didn’t take long before the win was locked up. Obviously, this wasn’t intentional but if timed right, there’s nothing stopping one player from leaving every game to guaranteed wins for the other two. It took a good while for the match to play out but the win was guaranteed early on. Activision is yet to address this particular issue, but given how damaging it is, expect to see a fix relatively soon. If you’re just getting your footing on Rebirth Island and want to secure some wins without an exploit, here’s a rundown on our best landing spots for the new map.

Insane Warzone exploit lets you choose your first weapon – Dexerto
Insane Warzone exploit lets you choose your first weapon Activision[jwplayer SmN5cmUl]A new exploit has been found in Warzone Season 4 that literally lets players pick their first weapons when they land in Verdansk. Season 4 of Modern Warfare and Warzone came out in June, bringing a number of huge changes, including new multiplayer maps and some big weapon balancing changes that have completely shaken up the meta in both regular multiplayer and battle royale. One change that probably wasn’t intended, though, is the ability to basically pick your own weapons when you drop in on Warzone – and it’s relatively easy to do, too. How to take pre-game weapons into the match If you’re sick of having to use floor loot such as a burst AR or a PILA, with no alternatives in sight, it’s actually possible to bring your weapons from the pre-game lobby into the real match. You might want to give this a few trial runs to see if you can do it because you have to be quite precise with your timing, but if you pull it off you’re almost guaranteed a more comfortable experience when you first land. You can see how it works in the clip below, but here’s a step-by-step instructional guide for you to bring your pre-game weapons into Verdansk with you: Before deployment, see which weapon you drop into the pre-game lobby with. – If it’s something you would be happy to take into battle, skip to Step 4. – If you want something different, get yourself killed and drop in with something new – repeat this as many times as you need, but make sure time is on your side. – As the game is about to deploy you, when the countdown timer reaches between 1 second remaining and 0, drop your weapons on the ground. This should be done when the countdown timer disappears. – When you fly into the actual match, land where you dropped the weapons and, if done right, they should still be there. – As mentioned before, your timing on this has to be impeccable. If you’re too early, your weapons won’t reappear, and if too late then you simply won’t drop them at all, so it might take a few attempts to get right. If you’re able to, make sure you take advantage of this while you can: this definitely seems like something Infinity Ward will want to patch before long, and could make securing victory in Verdansk that much easier.

Insane Warzone exploit lets players go invisible under Stadium for free wins – Dexerto
Insane Warzone exploit lets players go invisible under Stadium for free wins ActivisionThe launch of Verdansk ’84 represented Warzone’s biggest environmental overhaul since its 2020 launch, but some players have already identified game-breaking bugs within the new map. The anticipation of Warzone’s third season was so great that it’s probably fair to say some were left slightly underwhelmed with the 1984 re-skin of Verdansk, rather than an entirely new environment for Call of Duty’s sophomore battle royale. As a result of the map re-skin, many POIs from the original Verdansk remain, just with slight adjustments. Stadium experienced some significant changes, though, with the giant bowl we were used to being replaced by a much more modest stadium under construction. Despite only dropping on April 21, players have found a pretty serious exploit that allows them under the map in an untouchable position. A clip, uploaded to Reddit by u/TITANxRaven, shows an enemy player who has managed to get under stadium’s football field, below the mounds and construction vehicles that scatter the pitch. The player is able to shoot at and down enemies from their below-the-map location, but seem invisible. While Warzone has had (and continues to have) big issues with cheaters, this appears more likely to be a texturing glitch of some kind. We have seen similar issues at Airport in Verdansk ’84, so it seems likely that the issues are texturing bugs in the new environment. While it may be down to a glitch, the clip shows a whole team playing under the map, seemingly exploiting the bug to give them invulnerability and an essentially free win. As of the publication this article, Raven have not responded to the issues. Some bugs were to be expected given the significant overhaul Verdansk ’84 constitutes, but many still want to see a quick fix to prevent more players racking up unfair wins. For a full idea of the issues Raven and Treyarch are monitoring, check out their dedicated Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Trello board.
