  • How to unlock JAK Slash in MW3 & Warzone – Dexerto

How to unlock JAK Slash in MW3 & Warzone DexertoThe JAK Slash is now available in MW3 and Warzone, providing a new underbarrel attachment that players can unlock to give their weapons more utility. Following on from the JAK Widemouth Barrel and JAK Cataclysm, the JAK Slash is the third Aftermarket Part added in Season 5. While the others were conversion kits that fundamentally changed their respective weapons, this is instead an underbarrel attachment that can be used on most primary guns. That includes assault rifles, battle rifles, LMGs, Marksman Rifles, and even some Sniper Rifles. When equipped, it converts gun melee attacks into knife swings, similar to when a Throwing Knife is used. Also, this attachment boosts key mobility stats like sprint speed and movement speed, making it truly unique and perfect for fast-paced playstyles. How to get the JAK Slash underbarrel attachment The JAK Slash is unlocked by completing any five weekly challenges from Season 5, Week 3. These challenges can be completed across multiplayer, Warzone, and Zombies, or even a combination of the three. After you have finished five challenges and unlocked the JAK Slash, the Aftermarket Part can be equipped on most primary weapons in the underbarrel attachment section of the gunsmith. Unlike most other AMPs, the JAK Slash does not require a gun to be fully leveled before it can be equipped. • How to unlock JAK Outlaw-277 Kit in Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone – Dexerto

How to unlock JAK Outlaw-277 Kit in Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone ActivisionThe JAK Outlaw-277 kit has already made waves in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone as it can do some serious damage, with many players calling it overpowered. After leaks showed just how powerful it was, the attachment is now in the game and just as prolific as everybody expected. Fortunately, unlocking the JAK Outlaw-277 kit is pretty easy, and if you play regularly, you might even find yourself unlocking it without meaning to, as long as you know roughly what you should be doing. All you have to do is complete five of the weekly challenges in Week 7 across either multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone. Here’s what the challenges are: Perhaps the easiest section to complete these challenges is in Warzone, as it is simply getting kills in certain parts of the map, rather than with specific weapons or attachments that you might not have unlocked yet, or using loot caches/contracts. It’s also worth noting that you can complete five across any of the three — this could be one Warzone challenge, two in Zombies, and two in Multiplayer, or all five in Zombies if you so wish. To make things easier, when you check through the challenges in-game, you can select to track them, meaning you can check on their progress in-game. As the penultimate week of Season 2, once you’ve done this, you’ll also be one step closer to unlocking the Rotten Inferno camo.

  • How to unlock JAK Devastators in MW3 & Warzone – Dexerto

How to unlock JAK Devastators in MW3 & Warzone DexertoThe JAK Devastators is a conversion kit for the Reclaimer 18 in MW3 and Warzone that makes the iconic shotgun akimbo, letting you wield two at the same time. Back in the day, akimbo shotguns were the norm in Call of Duty, with the infamous Model 1887 – which returned as the JAK Wardens – dominating multiplayer. However, they haven’t been as common in newer entities, likely because soldiers aren’t exactly dual-wielding shotguns in the real world. However, this aftermarket part isn’t held back by reality, offering a duel wield conversion for this rendition of the SPAS-12. These are described as providing a “mobile artillery barrage” where “destruction is maximized” at the cost of accuracy and recoil control. Before you can use the JAK Devastators on your loadouts, you’ll first need to unlock them, and here’s how you can do just that. How to get JAK Devastators conversion kit The JAK Devastators can be unlocked in MW3 and Warzone by completing five weekly challenges from Season 5, Week 8. These challenges can be completed across multiplayer, Warzone, and Zombies, or even a combination of the three. Here are the weekly challenges for Week 8 that you can complete to unlock the JAK Devastators, with those highlighted in bold being the easiest to complete, and the ones we recommended targeting to get your hands on the conversion kit as fast as possible: Multiplayer challenges These challenges can be completed in any multiplayer game mode: Get 20 Operator Akimbo Kills. – Get 10 Operator Headshot Kills using pistols or SMGs. – Get 5 Kills against Operators who are blinded or stunned with SMGs. – Get 2 Operator Clean Kills in one life, 2 times. – Get 10 Operator Kills after reloading with assault rifles. – Get 15 Operator Clean Kills while aiming down sights with a shotgun. – Get 8 Operator Clean Kills with marksman rifles or sniper rifles. – Zombies challenges These challenges can be completed in MWZ, with kills across every zone counting towards them: Get 150 Akimbo Kills. – Get 250 Critical Kills with a pistol. – Get 50 Mercenary Kills with an SMG. – Get 10 Kills without being hit 30 times. – Get 100 Kills after reloading with assault rifles. – Get 200 Kills while aiming down sights with a shotgun. – Get 10 Zombie Kills without taking damage 20 times with marksman rifles or sniper rifles. – Battle Royale challenges These challenges can be completed in any Warzone game mode: In Warzone Urzikstan, open 20 Loot Caches in the North-West region (Resort, Power, Seaport, Cargo). – In Warzone Urzikstan, open 20 Loot Caches in the Southern region (City, Suburbs, Manor). – In Warzone Urzikstan, open 20 Loot Caches in the Eastern Region (Military Base or Farms). – In Warzone Urzikstan, open 20 Loot Caches in the Central Region (Old Town, Low Town). – In Warzone, place in the Top 10 three times. – In Warzone, get 5 Operator Kills or Kill Assists. – In Warzone, complete 10 Contracts. – For more Call of Duty guides, check out the best Warzone loadouts and MW3 loadouts. • How to unlock JAK Deathmarch in MW3 and Warzone – Dexerto

How to unlock JAK Deathmarch in MW3 and Warzone DexertoThe JAK Deathmarch is available as a conversion kit for the BAL-27 in MW3 and Warzone, making the sci-fi assault rifle even more futuristic. When equipped, the JAK Deathmarch turns the BAL-27 into an energy burst gun with a short charge-up time. If you are familiar with Fusion Rifles in Destiny, this Aftermarket Part is the closest thing Call of Duty has ever gotten to them. It’s pretty good too, offering a fast time to kill in multiplayer and a competitive one in Warzone. However, its potential as a meta contender is dampened by the gun’s slow handling, high recoil, and unforgiving damage, with just one missed shot costing you dearly. Even though it isn’t meta, the JAK Deathmarch is still a fun and unique attachment that brings something entirely new to the franchise. Here’s how to unlock it, so you can start using the conversion kit as soon as possible. How to get JAK Deathmarch conversion kit The JAK Deathmarch is unlocked by completing any five weekly challenges from Season 5, Week 6. These challenges can be completed across multiplayer, Warzone, and Zombies, or even a combination of the three. After you have finished five challenges and unlocked the JAK Deathmarch, the Aftermarket Part can be equipped on the BAL-27 in the Conversion Kit attachment slot. To do this, you’ll first need to reach Level 19 on the MW3 assault rifle. All Season 5 Week 6 Challenges Complete any five of the following challenges to get the JAK Deathmarch: For more useful Call of Duty guides, check out the best Warzone loadouts and MW3 loadouts. • How to unlock JAK Cataclysm conversion kit in MW3 & Warzone – Dexerto

How to unlock JAK Cataclysm conversion kit in MW3 & Warzone DexertoThe JAK Cataclysm transforms the RPK from an LMG to a .50 Cal sniper rifle and has all of the characteristics of a meta weapon in Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer and Warzone. Conversion kits have worked wonders on a few weapons that previously struggled to get any use. Thanks to the JAK Patriot conversion kit, the M16 went from one of MW3’s worst ARs into one of the title’s best thanks to full-auto fire capability. Meanwhile, the JAK Revenger kit transformed the BP50 from an underused and disappointing AR into an SMG capable of competing with any top short-range meta weapon. Sledgehammer Games also struck gold with the JAK Raven kit. Although the MCW is a solid AR, it shines even brighter as a fast-firing SMG. Similarly, the RPK has always been a good weapon, but the new JAK Cataclysm conversion kit elevates the LMG to another level. How to unlock the JAK Cataclysm conversion kit Unlock the JAK by completing five weekly challenges from Season 5, Week 2. These challenges can be completed across multiplayer, Warzone, and Zombies, or even a combination of the three. After you have finished five challenges and unlocked the JAK Cataclysm, the Aftermarket Part can be equipped on the RPK in the conversion kit attachment slot. To unlock the conversion kit slot players first need to reach Level 19 on the hard-hitting LMG. All Season 5 Week 2 Challenges Complete any five of the following challenges to unlock the JAK Cataclysm conversion kit For more useful Call of Duty guides, check out the best Warzone loadouts and MW3 loadouts. • How to unlock JAK-12 shotgun in Modern Warfare and Warzone – Dexerto

How to unlock JAK-12 shotgun in Modern Warfare and Warzone Infinity WardModern Warfare and Warzone’s 1.28 update has officially gone live, and the big addition in the latest patch is a brand-new shotgun called the JAK-12. Here’s everything you need to know to get your hands on the powerful weapon. [jwplayer L7zZP3SQ] Black Ops: Cold War may be on the horizon, but that doesn’t mean that Infinity Ward are finished updating Modern Warfare, with the developers dropping their latest update for the game on October 14 with the 1.28 update. One of the major changes this week sees some of Warzone’s long-range weaponry receive balance changes, with the Kar98 receiving a buff to its minimum damage range, while the ultra-powerful SP-R 208 has had its damage range reduced in an attempt to make it slightly less lethal. In terms of new weapons though, it was close combat that received some love this week, with the reincarnation of the AA-12 shotgun from previous Call of Duty titles making a welcome return in the form of the JAK-12. The weapon is locked when you first start up your game after the patch, but we’ve got everything you need to unlock it and make it part of your armory. The JAK-12 is actually fairly easy to unlock, so you won’t have to spend hours and hours grinding to finally get it. The fully-automatic bolt shotgun certainly packs a punch, so will be useful for close-contact encounters, especially on small multiplayer maps like Shipment or Rust, or inside buildings on Warzone. To unlock the JAK-12, you simply need to get three hipfire kills using a shotgun in seven different matches. The good news is that there is no specific shotgun you are required to use to do so, and you don’t even have to do it in simultaneous matches, just get the three in any multiplayer match and it will be added to your tally. You can use any of your favorite shotguns, but we would suggest the R9-0 or Origin 12 as they pack a good punch, something you need when you’re not aiming down sights to find kills. Playing on smaller maps will be useful too, and modes like Hardpoint and Domination where players swarm to locations could be an easy way to pick up the kills you need without running around the map hoping to find someone. You also don’t need to be any specific level to unlock the JAK-12, so anyone can hop into the game and get their kills to unlock the gun. The weapon is already proving to be immensely powerful, with players reporting that some attachments can create a loadout which gives the JAK-12 incredible range. The shotgun is live right now, so hop in and try it for yourself.

  • How to unlock ISO 9mm SMG in Warzone 2 & Modern Warfare 2 Season 6 – Dexerto

How to unlock ISO 9mm SMG in Warzone 2 & Modern Warfare 2 Season 6 ActivisionSeason 5 Reloaded added to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone’s ever-growing SMG weapon pool with the ISO 9mm. Here is everything you need to know about the latest close-range option. The Biffle, Sage, and Shifty trio cruised to victory in the 2023 World Series of Warzone, taking home $100,000 each. If squads weren’t gunning each other down from range with the Signal 50 sniper, they rushed each other with a Lachmann Sub in hand. Those two weapons, alongside the Kastove 762, reigned supreme, possibly signaling the need for change. According to WZ Ranked, the Lachmann Sub leads all SMGs with a 15.8% pick rate. The ISO 45 is the next best class offering but is only selected in 4.8% of matches. The battle royale’s meta will undoubtedly receive some sort of shakeup in the Season 6 weapon balancing update. But there are other ways to add diversity in weapon selection besides just buffing and nerfing weapons. Here is everything you need to know about MW2’s latest SMG, the ISO 9mm. How to unlock ISO 9mm in Warzone 2 & Modern Warfare Season 6 Players can unlock the ISO 9mm in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 6 by completing the free Sector F4 of the Battle Pass. The name ISO should do enough to send a shiver down the spines of MW2 veterans. The new SMG shares a weapon platform with the infamous ISO 45 and ISO Hemlock, which both dominated Warzone’s meta at different stages. It remains to be seen if the ISO 9mm will reach those same highs, but Activision explained: “This weapon favors speed over long-range lethality, so do what it takes to get up close and on target fast.” Players can equip a 50-round drum and pair it with a laser to spray and pray multiple enemies at once. Or if the iron sights are checking every box, a sight improves ADS speed and accuracy. The devs added that users have plenty of options at their disposal as long as they keep combat close. We will provide an update when we have a meta loadout for the ISO 9mm. For now, check out the rest of our Season 6 coverage.

Here’s how to unlock it, with the challenges needed. The SMG meta hasn’t been particularly open in recent months, especially in Warzone, where the best WSP Swarm reigns supreme. Now, a new one is being added to the collection, with the HRM-9 arriving in Season 1 Reloaded of Modern Warfare 3. Here’s how you can get the new weapon and start piecing across multiplayer and battle royale. The HRM-9 isn’t the only new gun in the Season 1 Reloaded update, as the TAQ Evolvere LMG is also added to the game.

How to unlock H4 Blixen SMG in Vanguard & Warzone Season 3 ActivisionThe H4 Blixen will soon be arriving in Vanguard & Warzone Season 3 and we’ve got the details on how to unlock the shiny new SMG. This lone ranger will follow up those other two guns later in the season, but we already know what needs to be done in order to get your hands on it. How to unlock H4 Blixen in Warzone & Vanguard The H4 Blixen won’t be available until after the Season 3 Reloaded update later in the year. Alternatively, if you’re impatient and would rather unlock it without grinding out the challenge, you can do so by purchasing a Store Bundle that contains a Weapon Blueprint for the H4 Blixen. In the Classified Arms developer update, the gun was noted as sharing “design techniques” with the Sten and PPSh-41, so picking it up for the first time might not be too difficult for veteran SMG players.

  • How to unlock Gold, Platinum and Damascus camo in Modern Warfare – Dexerto

How to unlock Gold, Platinum and Damascus camo in Modern Warfare Gold camo is back in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and now there’s a new Platinum and mastery camo called ‘Damascus too – here’s what you need to do to unlock them. Infinity Ward have taken weapon customization to the next level already for Modern Warfare, with a total of 103 camos available to unlock through gameplay for every single weapon. Each weapon has ten camo ‘categories’, which each have a further ten variants inside, all of which are earned through leveling up the weapon and completing challenges like kills and headshots. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare camo categories The ten weapon categories, earned by ranking up the weapon’s level, are as follows: Spray Paint – Woodland – Digital – Urban – Splinter – Topo – Tiger – Stripes – Reptile – Skulls – Once each category is unlocked, and you have then completed each challenge within for the ten variants, you will have a total of 100 camos, but there are still three more to earned. How to unlock Gold camo Like previous games, gold camo is earned by earning all other camos for a weapon, in this case 100, essentially mastering that weapon fully. Read More: When can you play CoD: Modern Warfare? – How to unlock Platinum camo Following on from gold, you will need to complete all camos for all weapons in a certain class, for example, gold on every Assault Rifle. This will then unlock Platinum on these weapons. How to unlock Mastery camo: Damascus Platinum is not the top tier, however, as once you have managed to earn platinum on every single weapon in the game, you will unlock the weapon mastery camo, called ‘Damascus’. We don’t have any image of this camo yet, but Infinity Ward told CharlieINTEL that it has an “oil-slick” appearance. Each year, dedicated players and streamers will race to unlock the mastery camo, but we can expect it to take a bit longer this time around, considering they will need to unlock 100 of them on every weapon in the game first.

  • How to unlock Gold, Diamond and Dark Matter Camos in Black Ops 4 – Dexerto

How to unlock Gold, Diamond and Dark Matter Camos in Black Ops 4 Just like every Call of Duty release, fans have been eager to find out what the always popular Gold, Diamond and Dark Matter gun camos look like in Black Ops 4. While players can always be sure that Gold and Diamond skins will appear in a Call of Duty game, it wasn’t until the new title released on Friday, October 12 that it became certain that a Dark Matter skin had been included. These infamous skins are not available in the game from the beginning, but require the player to grind and work their way through the weapon’s various challenges to finally unlock these camos. The brand new Gold camo for this years game is a slightly darker version of the skin compared to the one found in World War II. To unlock the Gold camo, players need to unlock every other camo available for the weapon by completing the gun’s specific challenges. Once these are completed, the Gold camo will be unlocked, but only available for that weapon. Diamond camos become available when players unlock the gold skin for every weapon in it’s specific weapon category. For example, if you wanted Diamond for your MX9 submachine gun, you would need to unlock the Gold skin for every other submachine gun.

  • How to unlock Gold, Diamond and Dark Matter camo in Blackout – Dexerto

How to unlock Gold, Diamond and Dark Matter camo in Blackout TreyarchThe hard-to-reach weapon camos from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4‘s Multiplayer are making their way to Blackout. During a recent game update, Treyarch revealed in the patch notes that the mastery camos are soon to be rolled out within Blackout. However, players who have already unlocked the extremely difficult to reach weapon skins – such as Dark Matter – in Multiplayer, will not get their progression rolled over. In Multiplayer, Gold camo is unlocked by unlocking every other camo available for the weapon by completing the gun’s specific challenges. Diamond camo is unlocked by unlocking the gold skin for every weapon in its specific weapon category. The recent patch note led to confusion for some fans who questioned Treyarch – via Reddit – on just how the upcoming system is going work. In a reply to a post on the Black Ops 4 subreddit, Treyarch said: “The weapon camo progression design for Blackout is a different system with its own challenges compared to Multiplayer, and Gold, Diamond, and Dark Matter unlocked in Multiplayer will not be automatically unlocked in Blackout. “There will be different camos to unlock in Blackout on the path to Mastery Camos through a wholly new mechanic.” So, Treyarch have switched it up on us and the usual challenge progress path has been changed. Players will collect Paint Cans throughout the map in each match, and bank them to unlock the hard to reach weapon camos. These Paint Cans are a new resource in the world of Blackout, and players will keep what they find, even if they die and lose the game. Stick to Dexerto for everything you need to know about Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and the Blackout mode when updates are released.

  • How to unlock gold camo in MW2 – Dexerto

How to unlock gold camo in MW2 Call of DutyInfinity Ward fundamentally changed the camo unlocking process in Modern Warfare 2. Don’t worry if you struggle to wrap your head around the new system; you aren’t alone. Here, we’ll show you how to unlock gold camo in MW2. Call of Duty Vanguard players bashed the game’s “ridiculous” weapon unlock grind. It took approximately 228 hours, or nine and a half days of gameplay, to reach the max level on each gun. Infinity Ward listened to complaints and streamlined the process in Modern Warfare 2. Weapon Platforms relieved headaches by unlocking attachments for multiple weapons at once. Its implementation slightly backfired as a confusing UI and unclear directions created more questions than answers. Fortunately, that’s what we are here for. Here is everything you need to know about unlocking gold camo in MW2. How do Camos work in Modern Warfare 2 All Modern Warfare 2 weapons have four Base Camos and four Completionist camos. Base Camos are unique and can be unlocked with one weapon and used by any weapon. There are over 180 Base Camos. Completionist camos are always the same style but exclusive to your weapon. Make sure to check out our guide on how to unlock every Completionist Camo. How to unlock gold camo in Modern Warfare 2 To unlock a weapon’s gold camo, you must unlock all four Base Camos and complete the gold camo challenges. Each gun has its specific level at which camo challenges are unlocked. For example, an M4 Base Camo challenge calls for 50 kills. The gold camo mission requires three kills without dying ten times. The challenges vary for every weapon. How to check your MW2 camo unlock progress You can check your camo unlock progress by going to the Blacksmith menu of any weapon. Killing real players and bots count toward camo progress, so co-op missions are a great way to rack up kills quickly. • How to unlock Gladiator in Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone – Dexerto

How to unlock Gladiator in Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone ActivisionSeason 3 of Modern Warfare 3 introduced the Gladiator melee. Here’s how you’ll get access to the weapon now that Season 3 is over. Modern Warfare 3’s third season introduced four new weapons to the game’s expansive weapon pool. Players can earn classic favorites — the BAL-27 assault rifle and MORS sniper rifle — while nabbing two new weapons, the FJX Horus and the Gladiator melee. The Gladiator is an interesting melee choice, as it ditches the conventional sword or knife appearance for a smaller punch knife. It’ll certainly run rampant in lobbies, as players look to dominate the smaller maps with the hilariously small blade. That said, the previous Modern Warfare 3 season required players reach Sector 15 in the Season 3 Battle Pass to unlock the Gladiator. Now that the season is over, however, you’ll need to unlock it via the Armory Unlock system by completing five Daily Challenges. These challenges can be completed in any of CoD’s core modes. It also has six levels to progress through and is described as follows: “Close combat was never so quick and painful, with the Gladiator rivaling the Karambit for supreme mobility, handling, and damage potential. Cut straight to the bone with haste and ease, but ensure you’re close enough to make your lethal stabs count.” If you’re a melee enthusiast, check out how to unlock the Soulrender melee weapon, or how to unlock the Sledgehammer.

One such figure is Kyle ‘Gaz’ Garrick, who featured in MW 2019 and returns in the 2022 installment. He has now been confirmed as dropping with Season One Reloaded. How to get Gaz operator skin in Warzone 2.0 and MW2 Activision confirmed he will be unlockable to players via a couple of different means once the update drops on December 14. The first relates to Modern Warfare 2’s new Raids, a three-player co-op mode which will launch with S1R. The second is simply a buyable bundle that will feature in the game’s store. The unlock methods for three different Gaz skins are detailed in full below: Complete the Atomgrad Raid Special Ops Raid to unlock Gaz and his “Convoy” Skin – Gaz is also available in Store Bundle with “Aquatic” Skin – Those who complete the Raid and purchase the Bundle will unlock the “Grass Ops” Skin as a bonus reward – Gaz has become a fan favorite because of his role in the Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2 campaigns. After impressing CoD icon Captain Price in 2019 with his role in the Piccadilly mission, Gaz was given the honor of joining Task Force 141. His part in the 2022 title’s campaign, saving CIA agent Kate Laswell among other heroics, earned him a place on Red Team 141. He drops in Modern Warfare 2 as a SpecGru operator. Gaz joins a long list of exciting content coming with Season One Reloaded, including the Chimera assault rifle and Shipment multiplayer map.

While the new season of Call of Duty has largely been met with ire by players, with streamers even receiving death threats by fans disappointed with the latest update, there were some shining glimmers of hope. Here’s how you can get your hands on the fan-favorite sniper rifle in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2. Unlock FJX Imperium in Warzone 2 & MW2 There are no challenges required to unlock the FJX Imperium, the only way to procure this iconic sniper rifle is to unlock it via the Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 3 Battle Pass. The weapon is unlocked after fully completing Sector C4 of the Season 3 Battle Pass. This makes it fairly easy to unlock and means you should be able to get it fairly early on. If you’re new to this year’s CoD games, the Battle Pass for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 has undergone some serious changes to give players a lot more freedom in how they approach their goodies. Instead of being one linear unlock path, the pass is now divided up into Sectors, allowing players to have more say in which items they want to acquire. Not only that, but Season 3 introduced players to BlackCell, which replaces the Battle Pass Bundle in the game with a brand new offering, as well as the new Cronen Squall battle rifle. • How to unlock FJX Horus in Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone – Dexerto

How to unlock FJX Horus in Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone ActivisionSeason 3 brought the FJX Horus SMG to Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. Here’s how to unlock the close-range assassin post the previous season’s conclusion. Modern Warfare 3’s Season 3 saw four new weapons enter the fold — the MORS sniper rifle, the BAL-27 assault rifle, the Gladiator melee, and the FJX Horus SMG. The FJX Horus is a machine pistol SMG, boasting best-in-class close-quarters damage and mobility that looks familiar to the MAC-10 from previous entries. When it joined in Season 3, players had to reach Sector 8 of Season 3’s Battle Pass. However, now that the season is over, the unlock for it is easier than ever. Players simply have to activate the Armory Unlock and complete five Daily Challenges. These challenges can be done via any mode, and once unlocked, the FJX Horus will be usable across all of CoD’s modes. The gun has 18 levels of progression and is described as follows: “Boasting fantastic mobility and handling along with a lightning quick reload speed, the FJX Horus is ideal for rapid, close-ranged engagements. Close the distance for optimal damage output and utilize its breakneck swap speed to switch between weapons without missing a beat.” Now that it’s been put through the test, we’ve compiled our best builds for the SMG in MW3 and Warzone.

  • How to unlock FiNN LMG in Modern Warfare & Warzone Season 5 – Dexerto

How to unlock FiNN LMG in Modern Warfare & Warzone Season 5 Infinity WardA mid-season update to both Modern Warfare and Warzone has introduced a brand-new LMG to the weapon pool. The “agile” FiNN LMG is available now and here’s how you can get your hands on it. While much of the focus of the Season 5 Reloaded patch was focused on new modes and Games of Summer trials, a new weapon was also introduced. The August 24 update brought with it a beastly LMG to use across the BR experience alongside standard multiplayer modes. Billed as an “agile, mobile, and hostile” weapon in its class, the gun aims to blur the lines between ARs and LMGs, according to the developers. It packs a punch while still keeping your movement speed intact. If you’re eager to get your hands on the new weapon, it’s available for you as soon as your update has installed. There are two distinct ways to add it to your arsenal, however. Here’s an overview of how you can pick up the FiNN LMG in your next session. How to get the FiNN LMG in the Season 5 Reloaded update In order to acquire the new weapon, players have two options with the new update. The first choice is simple, but it’ll cost you. The FiNN LMG can be picked up through a new ‘Mainframe’ cosmetic bundle as it goes live in the digital store. This will give you instant access but it’ll run you a set amount of CoD points. Alternatively, you can earn the weapon without having to pay a dime. And as it stands, the challenge you need to complete for the LMG is actually quick and easy. All you’ll need to do is create a custom LMG class and quickly hop into any casual multiplayer playlist. The objective asks you to find a single melee kill in seven different matches while using an LMG. It can be any of the weapons in the class, and you can speed up the process in a big way. Rather than playing out a full match and only tallying a single melee kill for your troubles, you can quickly leave each lobby. As soon as you load in, find your melee kill and dash back out to the main menu. You should be able to blitz through seven games in just a matter of minutes with this method. The FiNN comes with a great deal of accuracy at a cost to range and fire rate. This is all to balance the most important feature of the new gun. The fact that movement speed is more so in line with that of an AR, than compared to your speed when using an LMG. You can grab this weapon for yourself the next time that you hop into Modern Warfare. Expect to see it in nearly every Warzone match over the next few days as well. Players will be looking to test out the latest firearm as per usual.

  • How to unlock Fennec & CR-56 Amax in Modern Warfare Season 4 – Dexerto

How to unlock Fennec & CR-56 Amax in Modern Warfare Season 4 Infinity WardTwo new weapons have been added in Modern Warfare Season 4, the Fennec and the CR-56 Amax, and we’ve got everything there is to know about them, from how they work, to images, and of course how to unlock them. The latest entry in the Call of Duty franchise has certainly delivered, at least on the content front. Fans have already been treated to three huge season updates, and now the fourth has finally arrived, after a short delay, on June 10. Among the new Season 4 content — which includes new Warzone in-game events, the return of Scrapyard, and more — were two new guns: a remastered Vector SMG from Ghosts, called the Fennec, and the CR-56 Amax assault rifle. Just as Activision promised at the beginning of the Modern Warfare cycle, and delivered on in the last few seasons, both these new weapons are available to all players for free simply by leveling up this season’s new Battle Pass. Players who don’t want to grind can also instantly obtain one or both of these guns by purchasing their way up the Battle Pass to each gun’s specific Tier. Fennec As mentioned earlier, the Fennec is a like-for-like rework of the popular Vector SMG from Call of Duty: Ghosts. In Modern Warfare, it’s described as an “aggressive full-auto submachine gun,” designed for “strategic room clearing.” The short-ranged weapon is billed as having “buttery smooth recoil” and a “blazing fast rate of fire”. That means the Fennec could be the go-to SMG for players looking to storm rooms and strongholds in Modern Warfare Season 4. As for how to unlock the brand-new submachine gun, it should be fairly easy. Players simply have to grind to Tier 15 of the Season 4 battle pass to unlock this remastered weapon. It is also on the free track, meaning you don’t have to purchase the premium pass. CR-56 Amax The new CR-56 Amax assault rifle is the other Season 4 weapon players can get their hands on in Modern Warfare now. The Amax will be a more long-ranged option than the Fennec. It will likely pack a bigger punch at medium distances too. Infinity Ward’s official description for the gun describes it as a “lightweight 7×62 x 39mm full-auto assault rifle”. It is allegedly both “compact” and “powerful”. According to the devs, it will be “deadly” at medium-range combat, and relatively versatile to boot. The CR-56 assault rifle will take a bit more grinding to unlock than the Fennec too, which is fitting considering its power: you’ll have to level the Season 4 battle pass up to Tier 31 before you can get your hands on this deadly gun. Faster ways of unlocking the new Season 4 guns While grinding the game and leveling up the Battle Pass is one way of unlocking the new Season 4 guns, there are alternative methods, albeit not free. One way is to buy the Battle Pass Bundle. That would instantly unlock the first 20 Tiers, and, with it, the Fennec SMG. You can then purchase the next 16 Tiers to the second Season 4 gun at $1.50 each. That will unlock you the CR-56 Amax assault rifle too. There is also, of course, the option to just purchase the whole Battle Pass outright. That would cost around $150 USD, but would unlock all of the Tiers and rewards at once. Both of the new guns would be included in that package. Season Four Battlepass items #ModernWarfare pic.twitter.com/RNVwHmbbTP — Ryan B. (@PrestigeIsKey) June 11, 2020 The Fennec and CR-56 Amax are, of course, just small additions in Season 4’s mega-update, which is out now. For full details on everything Infinity Ward has added to Modern Warfare & Warzone, check out our June 10 update patch notes.

  • How to unlock EM2 assault rifle in Warzone & Cold War Season 5 – Dexerto

How to unlock EM2 assault rifle in Warzone & Cold War Season 5 ActivisionThe EM2 assault rifle is due to shake up the Warzone meta when it arrives in Cold War Season 5, so you’re going to want to get ahead of the competition and get it unlocked as soon as possible. Season 5 is going to launch in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War on Thursday, August 12, and is going to bring a huge selection of new content with it. The Season 5 roadmap was revealed on August 5, a week before the big update, showcasing a number of the biggest changes, features, and additions coming throughout the season. In Cold War, maps such as Slums and Echelon will be arriving, while Warzone is getting two new perks in Combat Scout and Tempered. The most exciting part of each season, though, is getting to grips with the new guns. The EM2 joins an already stacked assault rifle class, and whether it will be able to compete with the likes of the Krig 6 or AK47 remains to be seen. Read More: Warzone Season 5 patch notes – The EM2 will be pretty easy to unlock, too. As it’s a Battle Pass weapon, you won’t have to fight through hordes of opponents, get a certain number of multi-kills or play through a particular number of matches to unlock it. Instead, you’ll be able to start using the new AR once you hit Tier 15 of the Season 5 Battle Pass. If you spend a bit extra to get the tier skip version of the Battle Pass, you’ll unlock it straight away, but if you buy the regular one it shouldn’t take too long to grind up either. According to the official description of the EM2, the fully automatic AR is described as a “well-rounded British rifle with good firing control. Built-in low-zoom optic improves accuracy. Slower fire rate with reliable range. In Season 5, the Tier 31 Battle pass weapon will be the Tec-9 SMG, while the Cane melee weapon will also be available to unlock at launch, though unlock challenges have not yet been revealed for it.

  • How to unlock E-Tool shovel in Warzone & Black Ops Cold War – Dexerto

How to unlock E-Tool shovel in Warzone & Black Ops Cold War ActivisionA brand-new weapon, the E-Tool shovel, is now available to unlock within both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, but unlike others in the game, players will have to complete a challenge in order to get it. Here’s what you need to do. With the release of Black Ops Cold War/Warzone Season 2, fans got a look at all the new weapons coming to the game and one of them was the E-Tool shovel. The shovel has become a fan-favorite weapon in CoD, most recently appearing in Call of Duty: Mobile. Unlike some other weapons, however, not only would the E-Tool not appear in the battle pass, but players would instead have to wait until March 11, 2021, two weeks after Season 2’s release, to get their hands on it. It’s here now and you have to complete a challenge to unlock it. Unlocking the E-Tool shovel steps Getting your hands on the E-Tool shovel is pretty simple. All players have to do is get a three killstreak with melee weapons in 15 different matches, which is one of the more easy challenges players have been tasked with. Of course, it’s worth noting that this challenge can be completed in both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer. That being said, you’ll more than likely want to complete it in the latter, as it may be a bit hard to get it a three killstreak within the battle royale mode. Another note is that you MUST complete your matches in order to unlock the weapon. Leaving the match early will cause the progress you made on the challenge to not count and while that’s certainly annoying, it’s definitely worth mentioning, as it will end up saving you time. It should also go without saying but the challenge cannot be completed within the game’s Zombies mode, so don’t think that you can just run into 15 different Zombies games and complete it that way. Nevertheless, getting 15 different three killstreaks shouldn’t be that hard, especially for those who are melee experts. And, if you don’t want to spend the time completing it, you can always purchase a bundle featuring the shovel and get it immediately.

Inlcuded in the list of additions are five new weapons, chief among them being the Dual Kodachis. So if you’re wondering how to unlock the Dual Kodachis melee weapon for yourself, here’s how it’s done in Season 2. How to unlock Dual Kodachis in Warzone 2 & Modern Warfare 2 The Dual Kodachis melee weapon is available as a free unlock in the Season 2 Battle Pass, it can be found within Sector B13. As it’s the top reward in that Sector, however, all four smaller rewards will need to be acquired first. Once you’ve got the Dual Kodachis in-hand, expect to blitz through the battlefield with rapid movement and even be able to attack targets from a longer distance than usual, as a recent Call of Duty blog outlined. While it comes boasting “impressive range and faster motion towards enemies compared to the Knife melee weapon,” it does have a tradeoff with “slower strafe and sprint speed.”

How to unlock classic hit marker sound effect in Black Ops Cold War Season 3 Activision / TreyarchBlack Ops Cold War may be the latest Call of Duty game on the block, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the classic hit marker sound effect. Call of Duty’s Season 3 Reloaded update has brought with it the new AMP63 pistol, Combat Bow killstreak, Ballistic Knife, and Baseball Bat melee weapon to Black Ops Cold War. There’s certainly a lot of content to get stuck into, but one of the lesser-known additions is that of the classic hit marker sound effect. Treyarch added this nostalgic audio option as part of the new update, giving series veterans the chance to relive the sound design of previous CoD titles. Whether you miss the classic hit marker sound effect or you just want to hear what it sounds like, then you’ll want to check out our quick guide. How to unlock classic hit marker sound effect in Black Ops Cold War From the shrill ping of a long-range cranium kill to the fleshy thud of bodyshots, the Call of Duty series has always prided itself on creating some deeply satisfying bullet sound effects. Not only do these subtle sound cues help us know when our bullets are being registered, they also make each gun feel incredibly powerful. Despite this, some players have voiced their distaste for the updated hit marker sound effects. Fortunately, Treyarch has given fans the option to toggle between the new and classic hit marker sound effects. Here’s how you can switch between them: Boot up Black Ops Cold War – Head over to the “Settings” option – Click on the “Audio” tab – Scroll down until you see the “Select Hit Markers Sound Effect” – Toggle the option over to “Classic” – Hop into a game and begin firing off rounds to hear the classic hit marker sound effect. – If you have grown attached to the new Cold War hit marker sound and wish to revert back to it, then simply head back to the options menu and switch it back. Make sure you check out our Call of Duty page for all the latest news and updates.

Like previous installments, this year’s Call of Duty has a ton of post-launch content planned for Season 1 Reloaded. This includes new game modes, new maps, and of course, new weapons. With M13B already having made its way to the game, the Chimera AR is also on its way sooner than later. The Honey Badger, unlike other assault rifles, specializes in close-range combat and is more powerful and silent. How to unlock C58 Assault Rifle in Warzone & Cold War TreyarchThe C58 is the latest Assault Rifle to be released in the Warzone and Black Ops Cold War Season 4 update, so here’s how you can unlock this lethal weapon. Warzone’s and Black Ops Cold War’s Season 4 update featured everything from Gulag changes, a new POI, and three new weapons. Aside from these exciting additions, the developers also introduced a new AR to the game’s ever-growing arsenal. The C58 is the new kid on the block and it aims to shake up the Assault Rifle meta with its high close-quarters damage. C58 Assault Rifle added in Season 4 update This AR can dish out some decent damage and features great accuracy, making it a decent pick for those who enjoy the SMG playstyle. While its fire rate may be slower than the top Warzone AR picks, the C58’s fast bullet velocity and reliable recoil make it the perfect addition to run and gun loadouts. The weapon’s description reads: “High damage at close range with slower fire rate. Fast bullet velocity and reliable recoil control with less ammo capacity.” How to unlock the C58 in Warzone & Cold War If you want to add the C58 to your collection, then you’ll definitely want to know how to unlock it. • How to unlock BP50 in Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 – Dexerto

How to unlock BP50 in Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 ActivisionThe BP50 assault rifle is the latest long-range addition to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, a versatile weapon that already looks like it could certainly have its uses across both multiplayer and battle royale. Here’s how to unlock the Season 2 gun. The BP50 is a recreation of the F2000 from the classic Modern Warfare 2 (2009), which wasn’t exactly popular in its day — though things could be a little different now based on early impressions of the gun. CDL pros have already started using it in practice to see if it could move the multiplayer meta away from the MCW, while its versatility means it could slowly creep into the Warzone meta, even if it doesn’t become the most popular gun. First things first, though, you need to get your hands on it. Here’s how to get the BP50 after the Season 2 update. How to get BP50 in MW3 & Warzone Unlocking the BP50 in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone is relatively simple, and shouldn’t take you too long, meaning you can get on with using it as soon as possible. You can get the BP50 through Sector B7 of the Season 2 Battle Pass, which isn’t too far along so with a little bit of grinding you should be able to get it relatively quickly. According to the weapon’s official description, it offers “exceptional maneuverability and a spectacular rate of fire compared to other rifles,” meaning it will certainly be destructive in the right hands. As well as the BP50, the RAM family got a new addition in Season 2, with the RAM-9 SMG looking to shake up the short-range meta.

  • How to unlock BP50 AR in Warzone & Vanguard Season 5 Reloaded – Dexerto

How to unlock BP50 AR in Warzone & Vanguard Season 5 Reloaded Treyarch/ActivisionDo you want to throw things back and use a reimagined version of the F2000? Here’s everything you need to know about unlocking the new BP50 assault rifle in Vanguard and Warzone Season 5. Warzone Season 5 Reloaded is finally here, culminating a historic run for the critically acclaimed battle royale. Raven Software didn’t pull any punches for the game’s final major update, adding two new weapons, new Operators, and a new game mode; Resurgence Supreme. Season 5 has already delivered two new weapons; the EX1 and RA 225 SMG. Neither weapon truly broke onto the scene as an entirely meta weapon, but both provide a fun change of pace. The Valois Revolver also entered the mix, capable of landing one-hit melee kills like other melee weapons, along with the iconic 6 round cylinder that comes with most revolvers. Warzone’s presumable final two weapons are the Vienna 5 LMG and BP50 AR. Inspired by the classic Modern Warfare 2 (2009) F2000, let’s look at Warzone’s newest AR option. How to unlock the BP50 in Warzone & Vanguard The developers described the BP50 as a weapon that “boasts a high fire rate while remaining deadly and accurate at long range.” Modern Warfare 2009’s F2000 suffered from massive recoil, so we will see if the same can be said about the BP50. The BP50 will be available in Zombies, Vanguard, and Warzone, with players able to unlock it through the completion of an AR-based challenge. We still don’t know the exact unlock details. However, the Vargo-S AR was unlocked by killing 20 or more zombies without being hit 50 times or earning 15 close-range kills in multiplayer. Another option is purchasing the weapon through blueprints in store bundles during Season 5 Reloaded. If the BP50 performs anything like the F2000, Warzone fans are in for a treat and a possible meta-altering weapon. We will provide an update when we know the official unlock method.

How to unlock Blue Dot Reticles in Modern Warfare 2 ActivisionModern Warfare 2 features a nearly unparalleled level of weapon customization but not everyone is ready to give up the classics. If you’re looking to unlock the Blue Dot sight in Modern Warfare 2, this is what you need to know. Reticle customization has been a big part of many past Call of Duty titles and with the arrival of the revamped gunsmith system, players have been trying to hunt down the blue sights of yore. While there’s no menu to customize your dots this time around, you can still unlock the specific attachments that contain the blue dot and equip them on a wealth of weapons without having to unlock things over and over for each gun. How to unlock the Blue Dot in MW2? As mentioned above, all you need to do for this coveted prize is unlock two specific attachments in the gunsmith. Both the Cronen Mini Pro and the Corio RE-X Pro come equipped with it, Thankfully, this is a one-time process since MW2’s gunsmith allows players to use items from specific weapons all across the board. What weapons have the alternate dot in Modern Warfare 2? So to unlock the Cronen Mini Pro or the Corio RE-X Pro you’ll have to level up specific weapons, but thankfully, neither one should take too long. Cronen Mini Pro: Reach level 7 with the Expedite-12 shotgun – Corio RE-X Pro: Reach level 4 with the .50 GS handgun – Once you’ve ticked off these boxes you’ll have both sights unlocked and ready to throw onto your loadout. Both options have their strengths, but the dot with the best bang for its metaphorical buck is the Cronen Mini Pro. It’s shaped more like the classic Red Dot Sight of CoD’s past and will likely feel more intuitive for longtime players and newcomers alike.

  • How to unlock Black Ops ‘Icons’ characters in Blackout – Reznov, Mason, Woods, and Menendez – Dexerto

How to unlock Black Ops ‘Icons’ characters in Blackout – Reznov, Mason, Woods, and Menendez In addition to the host of other changes that came with the November 13 Black Ops 4 update, Blackout players now have new character missions to tackle. Character missions task players with exploring Blackout’s map in search of special items that will eventually unlock exclusive character skins for the game mode. The challenges for the Multiplayer Specialist were included with the game’s release, while the Zombies characters from both the Voyage of Despair and IX maps were included in the November 6 update. The newest characters to unlock for Blackout are various ‘Icons’ who have played a major role in the Call of Duty franchise over the years. All the requirements to unlock each of these four special characters can be found below. Reznov The road to unlocking Reznov begins with a trip to the Estates to locate the Russian’s trademark hat, called the “Ushanka Hat” in-game. Once you pick up the hat, you must kill an enemy at “extreme range.” While no specific range was given in the challenge, many players have discovered that anything over 200 meters seems to do the trick. After securing your kill, you must finish the match with the hat in your inventory while finishing in the Top 5 for Solos, Top 3 for Duos, and Top 2 for Quads. Mason To start this challenge, you’ll need to first make your way to a Supply Drop in search for the “Stained White T-Shirt” item. The next part starts off as a bit of a mystery as players are asked to “Wake the Sleeper Agent.” You’ll have to head to Array and activate the Emergency Broadcast button located in the Radio Tower to complete this portion of the challenge. After waking the Sleeper Agent, you’ve got to hold onto the Stained White T-Shirt and then finish in the Top 3 for Solos, Top 2 for Duos, and secure a win in Quads to unlock the character. Woods Woods’ character mission involves a bit of nostalgia as players will need to find the “Woods’ Bandana” item that’s located in the original Black Ops helicopter spawn to the north of the Firing Range. Once you have the bandana, you’ll need to hop inside the helicopter and fly in it for at least 30 seconds to a minute to complete the second portion of the challenge. After that’s complete, you have to win your match with the bandana in your inventory and Woods’ challenge will be complete. Menendez To unlock the main antagonist from Black Ops 2, you must first head to a Supply Drop to find the “Locket” item. With the locket in tow, you’ll then need to kill an enemy with both a shotgun and a melee attack, which could prove to be a bit tough. As with the Bruno challenge, we recommend finding the Brawler perk for the melee portion of this one. At that point, you’ll simply need to finish the match with no specific placing while the locket is in your inventory and the final ‘Icons’ character will be yours. How to unlock Black Ops 4 Zombies characters in Blackout Black Ops 4 Zombies fans might have a reason to dive into Blackout now that the characters have been released for the game’s battle royale mode. Simply going for wins in Blackout isn’t all that players can do as Treyarch have included challenge sets that unlock special characters to use in the mode. The Specialists from the Multiplayer mode were the first to be included, but now the Zombies characters have been added to the mix with the massive November 6 update, giving players even more to unlock. Unlike the Specialists challenges, none of these require that players finish the game in a certain placing, which gives the impression that they could be easier. All of these challenges deal with zombies and the brand-new Blightfather boss found in the Graveyard portion of the map, though, meaning that players have to risk being killed by both the zombies or enemy players to acquire the necessary items. Read More: How to unlock Specialists in Blackout – You can find all the requirements needed for each character down below. ScarlettUnlocking Scarlett requires finding the Racing Goggles & Scarf item by killing and looting a zombie or the Blightfather in the Graveyard. Once the item is acquired, you must find a vehicle and kill a player with that vehicle before finishing the match with the Racing Goggles & Scarf in your inventory. DiegoAcquiring Diego is probably the easiest of all these character challenges as it involves a simple act that most players do every match. You must first find the Comic Book item by killing a zombie or the Blightfather and looting their body. Once you have the item in hand, you have to secure a kill or down with a headshot. Then you simply need to finish the match with the Comic book in your inventory and Diego is yours. ShawThis is where the challenges start to get a bit tougher as Shaw is one of the hardest in the game to obtain. For this challenge, not only do you need the Alchemy Set item that drops from zombies and the Blightfather, but you must pick up Wraith Fire or Acid Bomb pieces of equipment that can also be found by looting the Blightfather. Once you have all that, you have to kill two enemies with Wraith Fire or Acid Bomb and then finish the match with the Alchemy Set in your inventory and Shaw will be unlocked at last. BrunoUnlocking the French gangster Bruno will, of course, require players to really get their hands dirty. After picking up the Mug Shot poster item from either a supply drop or the Blightfather, you must kill someone with a melee attack (Clean Up kills do not count!) and then finish the game with the poster in your inventory to unlock the character. For this one, we recommend finding the Brawler perk since that will be essential to somehow picking up a melee kill outside of the early game when no one has weapons. How to unlock BAS-P SMG in Warzone 2 & Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 ActivisionThe BAS-P is a brand-new SMG to master in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 1. We’ve got all the details on how to unlock the BAS-P and start leveling it up. Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 has arrived, bringing a host of fresh content to the latest CoD entry and marking the launch of a new battle royale. There are plenty of features to get stuck into, but it’s the release of new weapons that has players particularly excited. One of these is the BAS-P, a close-range SMG with a blistering fire rate and eye-watering time-to-kill. The SMG class has some powerful options already, but the BAS-P could easily challenge the early Warzone 2 and MW2 meta. Here’s everything you need to know about how to unlock the BAS-P in Warzone 1 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 1. How to unlock the BAS-P on Warzone 2 & Modern Warfare 2 The BAS-P is unlocked by completing Sector A6 in the Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 Battle Pass, acting as the High Value Target (HVT) of that section. Both games are now making use of the ‘Combat Map’ Battle Pass, meaning that rewards are no longer earned simply by reaching a specific level. Luckily, this is one of the free Sectors of the Season 1 Battle Pass, meaning there is no need to spend any money to unlock the new weapon. You will first need to complete at least one of the adjacent areas surrounding Sector A6 – whether it be A3, A5, or A10. Then, you must unlock all four of the lower rewards in Sector A6 using Tier Skips earned from gameplay. Finally, a fifth Tier Skip will complete the Sector and unlock the BAS-P in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2. We’ve included a quick step-by-guide below: Complete one of the Sectors adjacent to A6 – A3, A5 or A10. – Use Tier Skips unlocked by playing matches to claim the four lower rewards in the Sector. – Spend a fifth and final Tier Skip to unlock the BAS-P SMG. – If you miss out on the BAS-P by the end of Season 1, don’t worry, it will be available through an in-game challenge as soon as the next Battle Pass goes live. Here are the event challenges you must complete to unlock the Barbed and Dangerous weapon skin. One thing Call of Duty is always on top of when it comes to multiplayer, Warzone, and Zombies, is weapon camos and blueprints, keeping things looking fresh and unique with every new release. This is especially true when it come to collaborations with other big franchises like we’ve seen them do in the past, such as with Saw or Dune, for example. One of the most recent ones is the The Walking Dead collab which has seen iconic characters like Rick Grimes arrive in Call of Duty, but there are also some TWD-themed camos and Operator skins that are in the game too, ready for players to purchase or unlock. This includes the Barbed and Dangerous camo which is available for only a limited time. Unlock Barbed and Dangerous MW3/Warzone camo Getting the Barbed and Dangerous camo in MW3 and Warzone is relatively simple, as it only requires you to play the game and rack up XP. With 10 XP milestones to reach, and rewards for each, this camo is the pinnacle of the Fear the Living event and is available for those who grind the most. The challenges are as follows: Obviously, at nearly 300,000 XP, you will have to be more conscious of completing challenges and playing modes that are XP heavy. For example, playing around the objective in Domination, racking up defend/attack kills, is a surefire way to go on big streaks and level up. As for challenges, completing just the MW3 multiplayer weekly challenges this week will earn you over 40,000 XP. If you also do Zombies and Warzone, you’ll be getting well over 100,000 XP, pushing towards the halfway point to unlock the camo. You’ll have to be quick to unlock Barbed and Dangerous, though, as the event ends on Wednesday, March 6, with the launch of Season 2 Reloaded.

  • How to unlock AS VAL & SP-R208 in Modern Warfare Season 6 + attachments – Dexerto

How to unlock AS VAL & SP-R208 in Modern Warfare Season 6 + attachments Infinity WardTwo new weapons have been added in Modern Warfare Season 6, the SP-R208 marksman rifle and the AS VAL. We’ve put together everything there is to know about them, including how they work and of course how to unlock them. Season 6 is here, and it’s a bit of a doozy; subways are finally open across Verdansk, the notorious Origin 12 has finally been nerfed, and multiplayer got a hefty four new maps. Among all the exciting new Season 6 content — which also includes new operators Farah and Nikolai, and a new-look Armory Royale LTM — were two new weapons; the silent AS VAL assault rifle, and the long-ranged SP-R208 marksman rifle. SP-R208 Marksman Rifle The SP-R208 has been branded by Infinity Ward as the “one of the most accurate weapons in its class”. That makes it a must-unlock right off the bat after the Season 6 update. The marksman rifle boasts “alternate ammo choices,” as well as “bolt assembly changes”. The devs wrote in their Sep. 27 update, “No matter how this weapon is configured, it’s a powerful yet mobile tool for a marksman on the go.” The SP-R208 is the first major gun you will unlock in the Season 6 battle pass. Call of Duty players will simply need to grind to Tier 15 of this season’s rewards to unlock the rifle. It’s on the free track too; all you’ll need is experience. Season 6’s assault rifle may be the best yet too, considering it comes packing a suppressor. The gun is renowned for its “stealth, accuracy, and high penetration,” all of which is paired with one of Modern Warfare’s highest rates of fire. Modern Warfare players wanting to get their hands on the AS VAL in Season 6 will need to level up the battle pass to Tier 31. Once you do that, you’ll be able to add this deadly gun to your arsenal, ready to dominate throughout Season 6. One way is to buy the Battle Pass Bundle. That would instantly unlock the first 20 tiers, and, with it, the SP-R208 marksman rifle. You can then buy the next 11 tiers to the next Season 6 gun, at $1.50 each. That will unlock you the AS VAL rifle too. There is also, of course, the option to just purchase the whole Battle Pass outright. That would cost around $150 USD, but would unlock all of the tiers and rewards at once. Both of the new guns would be included in that package. The AS VAL and SP-R208 are, of course, just small additions in Season 6’s mega-update, which is out now. • How to unlock AN-94 AR & ISO SMG in Modern Warfare Season 5 + attachments – Dexerto

How to unlock AN-94 AR & ISO SMG in Modern Warfare Season 5 + attachments Infinity WardTwo new weapons have been added in Modern Warfare Season 5, the AN-94 assault rifle & ISO submachine gun, and we’ve got everything there is to know about them, from how they work, to images, and of course how to unlock them. Season 5, which many have dubbed the most anticipated chapter of Modern Warfare yet, is finally here. The August 5 patch added stacks of multiplayer and Warzone content, including the new ‘Stadium’ interior and more. Among all the new Season 5 content — which also includes a new huge freight train, and ascension zip cables scattered across Verdansk — were two new guns: the AN-94 assault rifle, and the ISO submachine gun. ISO Submachine Gun The new APC9 ISO submachine gun has one major selling point heading into Season 5 right off the bat: it has an extremely rapid rate of fire, according to the Infinity Ward devs. The SMG is “lightweight, reliable, and compact,” which gives it an edge when it comes to “controlling the battlefield at close ranges”. The ISO certainly seems to be a top pick for the Call of Duty players that love to run-and-gun. Unlocking the new submachine gun should be fairly easy too. Call of Duty players will simply have to grind to Tier 15 of the Season 5 battle pass to unlock the SMG. It’s on the free track, meaning you don’t have to purchase the premium pass. The assault rifle’s debut in Modern Warfare marks the eighth time it has appeared in the franchise, including in Black Ops 2, 3, and 4. Infinity Ward described the AN-94 as a “cutting edge” 5.45x39mm Russian assault rifle which boasts a “unique hyper burst feature”. The gun’s initial shot is full-auto but is followed up by a second-round volley and “significant” recoil. The new Season 5 assault rifle has a huge amount of damage potential, the Modern Warfare developers wrote on their Season Five blog post, and has a reciprocating receiver to mitigate some of the gun’s “massive” recoil. The AN-94 assault rifle will take a bit more grinding to unlock than the ISO, which is fitting considering its power: you’ll have to level the Season 5 battle pass up to Tier 31 before you can get your hands on this deadly gun. • How to unlock all Operators in Modern Warfare – Dexerto

How to unlock all Operators in Modern Warfare A variety of ‘Operators’ launched with the release of Modern Warfare on October 25, each of which are available to showcase in the Multiplayer mode. Here’s how to unlock each Operator, with their respective challenges. Infinity Ward have released the latest iteration in the Call of Duty franchise and with it, have made a series of changes to the multiplayer experience. Alongside a host of gun customization options, the developers have scrapped the ‘Pick 10’ system by going back to their create-a-class roots. While the new look create-a-class system has been lapped up by fans, the removal of ‘Specialists’ or ‘Combat Rigs’ has also been well received. Changing to a more conventional Operator system, Infinity Ward have abolished the character-specific abilities that came in previous titles. Instead, they have transitioned to providing each Operator with different in-game appearances, as well as individual dialogues and executions. Challenges for all Operators in Modern Warfare In order to unlock each of the 18 Operators available in Modern Warfare, you’ll need to complete a series of challenges that span across the entire game. Specific challenges are tied to the campaign, multiplayer and special ops elements of the game, which we’ve outlined below (stratified by each faction). Coalition SAS Thorn: Complete the ‘Piccadilly’ Campaign Mission – Charly: Play 25 public matches. – Otter: Complete Operation: Paladin in Western Verdansk. – Warcom Domino: Win five matches of Gunfight. – Golem: Complete Operation: Headhunter in Downtown Verdansk. – Wyatt: Complete The Wolf’s Den Campaign Mission. – Demon Dogs D-Day: Complete the ‘Hunting Party’ Campaign Mission. – Alice: Complete Operation Harbringer in Eastern Verdansk. – Raines: Get 500 LMG Kills. – Allegiance Spetsnaz Minotaur: Get 300 Assault Rifle Kills in Multiplayer. – Bale: Complete the ‘Into the Furnace’ Campaign Mission. – Rodion: Complete the Operation: Just Reward in Downtown Verdansk. – Jackals Azur: Complete the ‘Old Comrades’ Mission in the Campaign. – Grinch: Get 100 Headshots in Multiplayer. – Zane: Complete all the given Co-Op Operations in Verdansk. – Chimera Yegor: Complete the ‘Proxy War’ Campaign Mission. – Kreuger: Execute 25 Finishing Moves. – Syd: Kill five Juggernauts in any Co-Op Mission. – Within each faction of Operators, there is scope to earn specific skin variations of each character, adding to the endless list of customization already integral to Modern Warfare. This is the first time in Call of Duty history where players have the ability to unlock multiplayer cosmetics through the other game modes within the game, meaning that you’ll have to play all elements of Modern Warfare should you want to get your hands on each Operator.

  • How to unlock all Modern Warfare 2 weapons: Platform & levels for every gun – Dexerto

How to unlock all Modern Warfare 2 weapons: Platform & levels for every gun ActivisionIt can be daunting to wrap your head around Modern Warfare 2’s new weapon unlock system. Here’s everything you need to know about making the process easier. Modern Warfare 2 features 51 base weapons and 33 weapon platforms. Infinity Ward introduced Receivers, fundamentally changing the way guns work. For example, the M4 assault rifle and FSS Hurricane SMG are different classes but fall under the same Platform. Unlocking M4 attachments for also unlocks FSS Hurricane attachments because they are in the same Platform. This eliminates the need to pour countless hours into unlock grinding, as players complained about in CoD Vanguard. How to unlock weapons in Modern Warfare 2 Modern Warfare 2 has 55 Military Ranks, each unlocking a new weapon platform, loadout item, or Spec Ops Kit. • How to unlock all Get Higher camos in MW3 & Warzone: Synth Bust, Shifting Grid & Gridlocked – Dexerto

How to unlock all Get Higher camos in MW3 & Warzone: Synth Bust, Shifting Grid & Gridlocked ActivisionThe new G3T_H1GH3R (or simply Get Higher) LTM has arrived in Modern Warfare 3, with three new animated weapon camos to unlock: Gridlocked, Shifting Grid, and the very tricky Synth Bust. An advancement of G3T_H1GH from previous seasons, Get Higher is a new experience that launched on July 3 to give players a different taste of the parkour map. Obviously you’re not just competing to reach the top first, or break your personal time record: there are also animated camos to unlock to help bolster your cosmetics inventory. Here’s what they are and how you can unlock them: Gridlocked: To unlock the Gridlocked camo, you simply need to reach the top of the G3T_H1GH3R map. – Shifting Grid: To unlock the Shifting Grid camo, you need to reach the top of the G3T_H1GH3R map in under 10 minutes. – Synth Bust: To unlock the Synth Bust camo, you have to collect all 12 secret coins in the G3T_H1GH3R map. – Unlock Synth Bust camo: All 12 coin locations The hardest of these to unlock will be Synth Bust, as you have to find all 12 coins on the map to reach the castle, and this will take you off the regular path so you’re not just going to find them all on your usual run. Below is a walkthrough from WhosImmortal on the exact locations for each coin, but you can find them in the following places. Also bear in mind that there are audio cues for these coins, so if you’re struggling to find them, you might be able to hear them: 22 meters. Drop down through a hole beneath the dropping blocks. – 29 meters. It’s in a side room past a spinning obstacle. – 61 meters. Behind a corner before the moving ledges. – 104 meters. Can be found on the natural run of the course. – 109 meters. Jump across the shipping crates and find a hidden tunnel underneath one of them. – 146 meters. Cross the thin bridge above the spiky, spinning obstacles and you’ll get it. – 146 meters. Drop off the ledge at the end of the above bridge and land on the platform below. Go through the tunnel and find the next coin. – 164 meters. Cross the moving red blocks and jump through the coin in the middle. – 164 meters. Cross the wing of the Terminal jet and drop down at the back. Climb the ladder at the back of the plane and the coin is at the top. – 190 meters. Drop through spinning obstacle on the left onto a platform, then hit the ledge next to it. Follow the room for the coin. – 206 meters. In corner by checkpoint. – 228 meters. Drop onto moving platform on right hand side, turn around, and enter the tunnel to find the final coin. – After collecting them, simply ascend to the top and enter the portal to complete your run. This won’t be easy and you might not be able to pull it off on your first run through, especially on the tricker parts of the map. That said, the Synth Bust camo in particular will no doubt be very rare, and will certainly turn heads when you use it in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, especially if you deck it out on the best meta Warzone classes in Urzikstan.

  • How to unlock Akimbo pistols in Modern Warfare: best .357 attachments – Dexerto

How to unlock Akimbo pistols in Modern Warfare: best .357 attachments Infinity WardAkimbo pistols, specifically the dual wield .375 Snake Shot magnums, are all the rage right now in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer and Warzone, so we’ve got everything you need to know to unlock them quickly. Anyone who’s played even just a few matches of MW multiplayer or Warzone in recent weeks will have come up against players using the Akimbo .357 Snake Shot pistols. Why? Because they’ve been incredibly overpowered and virtually unbeatable. Even with the May 7 update that nerfed the Snake Shot attachment, it seems as though the dual wield magnums are still very viable, and having them as an option in your battle royale arsenal is a must at this point. How to unlock Akimbo weapon perk The key to carrying two pistols at once is the Akimbo weapon perk, which was added into the game late February as a new unlockable feature. Each pistol has this perk as an option, which means you can run any handgun in a dual wield setup. All you need to do is complete the requirements necessary to unlocking Akimbo, which can be found in the weapon perk slot at the bottom right hand of the Gunsmith screen. X16: Get three kills in five different matches using the Sleight of Hand perk – 1911: Get three kills in five different matches using the Mo’Money perk – .357: Get three kills in five different matches using the Recon perk – M19: Get three kills in five different matches using the Frangible-Wounding perk – .50 GS: Get three kills in five different matches using the FMJ perk – Renetti: Get three kills in five different matches using the Mo’Money perk – You will need to have those specific weapon perks unlocked first in order to use them to complete the challenges, which in turn will unlock the Akimbo. This means you may have to level up your pistol of choice a bit before you can even go for the dual wield. Another very important thing to note is that if you leave a match early, the kills you get in the next game will not count towards your challenges. So, let’s say you get your three pistol kills done nice and early at the start of a match, don’t leave. Instead, just switch to another class or a different handgun and play it out until the end. The only time when leaving early will work for your benefit is the fifth and final match that you get your three kills in. As long as you didn’t leave the prior game early, that one should count even if you quit out. Okay, enough games. We all know what you’re here for – the infamous .357 Snake Shot setup. There’s no denying that almost everyone going for Akimbo is doing so with the magnums so that they can rain terror upon their enemies in Warzone. Read More: How to climb up the Dam in Warzone – Once you do unlock the dual wield perk, the next step is to set up your .357 class with the appropriate attachments; only a very specific combination will yield the setup you’re looking for. Barrel: .357 Long – Laser: 5mW Laser – Trigger Action: Lightweight Trigger – Ammunition: Snake Shot – Perk: Akimbo – The .357 Long barrel extends your range, the 5mW Laser ensures better accuracy and recoil control when firing from the hip, the Lightweight Trigger allows you to shoot at a faster rate, and the Snake Shot ammo is key to turning your magnums into mini-shotguns. For this particular setup, having a muzzle is not important and optics are obviously useless for all Akimbo classes since you can’t ADS when using dual wield pistols.

  • How to unlock 9mm Daemon in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone – Dexerto

How to unlock 9mm Daemon in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone ActivisionSeason 5 Reloaded added to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone’s growing pistol weapon pool with the 9MM Daemon. Here is everything you need to know about the latest sidearm option. Pistols don’t usually stir up controversy in Call of Duty, but that hasn’t been the case with Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone. It all started in Season 1 when akimbo pistols briefly took over the battle royale’s meta. Dual-wielding handguns fell back into irrelevancy after a harsh nerf, but sidearms rose in popularity once again when Ashika Island became Warzone’s second environment. The map put an emphasis on water combat, and players complained because the only weapons you can fire underwater are pistols. Frustrations only grew when Vondel became a Resurgence map in Season 4. The urban setting features a large abundance of water, and players have used pistols to take advantage of water combat. With that being said, let’s take a look at Warzone’s latest pistol. How to unlock 9mm Daemon in Warzone 2 & Modern Warfare Season 5 Reloaded Players can unlock the 9mm Daemon in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 5 Reloaded by completing the free Sector E0 of the Battle Pass, then earning 15 Operator headshot kills with Pistols. Infinity Ward knew exactly what it was doing by introducing the 9mm Daemon. The devs claimed: “The Sidearm category grows deeper with this new addition, set to rival the P980 and X12 for the low-caliber semi-auto throne.” The 9mm Daemon features the fastest semi-automatic fire rate among pistols and also has an akimbo attachment. Don’t be surprised if you see this pistol all over Resurgence matches on Ashika Island and Vondel. And for more, make sure to check out our guide on the best akimbo pistol loadouts in Warzone.

  • How to unlimited tac-sprint in Black Ops 6 Warzone – Dexerto

How to unlimited tac-sprint in Black Ops 6 Warzone ActivisionTactical Sprint is a faster version of the regular sprint. However, it comes with the downside that Black Ops 6 Warzone players can only do it for a limited amount of time before they have to wait for a cooldown timer. In the original Warzone, slide canceling reset the tactical sprint, meaning you could get around the map without slowing down. However, Sledgehammer Games reworked the mechanic in MW3 so it no longer resets the tactical sprint. ModernWarzone conducted a poll in May, and 65% of voters wanted unlimited tactical sprint to be a permanent feature. Ironically, those fans got their wish a few weeks later as Warzone added unlimited tactical sprint boots, a rare item that made it possible to use run infinitely. Players loved the test run, and now it will be a permanent feature in Black Ops 6. Unlimited tac-sprint in Warzone explained While using your dedicated melee slot weapon, you can use unlimited tac-sprint. In Black Ops 6’s iteration of Warzone, players can carry a dedicated melee weapon alongside a primary and secondary weapon. During the Call of Duty NEXT event, Warzone streamer Repullze showed off unlimited tactical sprinting. In addition to running as long as you want, your operator moves much faster. You won’t be able to shoot while carrying a knife, but unlimited tactical sprint will make getting around the map easier. We don’t recommend using this new feature in a gunfight, though, as a knife won’t help much unless you can get close enough to an enemy. That doesn’t mean you won’t at least be running in style, though, as Black Ops 6 introduces the Mastercraft Blueprint “Mind’s Eye” that comes with the Vault Edition. If players want to get their hands on the camo while sprinting around Urzikstan or Area 99, check out our guide on pre-order bonuses.

  • How to turn off Tac-Stance in Modern Warfare 3 – Dexerto

How to turn off Tac-Stance in Modern Warfare 3 Twitter: _FireMonkey / ActivisionHere’s how you can turn off the new Modern Warfare 3 movement mechanic, which offers a mix between hip-fire and ADS, Tac-Stance. Modern Warfare 3 has been made available to play, and players have loved trying out all the new weapons and experimenting to find the best loadouts and settings. Sledgehammer games, alongside the exciting arsenal of weapons, released some new changes to movement, one of them being Tac-Stance. What is Tac-Stance? Tac-Stance gives players another way to play Call of Duty, offering a blend of hip-fire and ADS for players who prefer to engage in gunfights while on the move. Sledgehammer Games officially released a statement on the new mechanic and what it offers: “Tac-Stance balances mobility and accuracy, allowing for evasive maneuvers and aggressive engagements. It’s available on most weapons, including those carried forward from #MW2, and can be dynamically toggled anytime during gameplay.” But, not everyone has enjoyed the new addition. For some the sideways-positioned weapon sights are jarring, and some find themselves entering the stance when they least want to. For players who prefer a more “classic” Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 experience, and are too often accidentally entering Tac-Stance, here is how to turn the feature off. How to turn off Tac-Stance To turn off Tac-Stance, first find the mechanic in the “gameplay” section of the settings page. Here, four settings will be available to choose: Off – ADS + Sprint – ADS + Melee – ADS + Down Button – Select the “Off” setting to enjoy a more classic Call of Duty experience, similar to the original Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 game. To optimize other control, video, and audio settings to take your gameplay to the next level, visit our PC Settings guide.

  • How to turn off crossplay in Call of Duty Warzone for PC, Xbox One & PS4 – Dexerto

How to turn off crossplay in Call of Duty Warzone for PC, Xbox One & PS4 Activision / Infinity WardCall of Duty: Warzone invites players across major platforms to battle it out on Verdansk. But for those who just want to play with people of their respective platforms, you can turn off crossplay for PS4, Xbox One, and PC – here’s how. The video game industry has grown to accommodate crossplay between major systems, which vastly expands the pool of players one can hop in with. At one time, it was a hotly contested concept, but now plenty of titles ship with crossplay, though sometimes not everyone can or wants to utilize it. Luckily, there are ways to disable the feature in Warzone, for people who only want to keep games between console players or let PC users to compete among themselves. Warzone: Turn off crossplay PS5 / PS4/ PC While on paper crossplay sounds like a wonderful idea, over the last couple of years there has been a heated debate among players over the potential advantages tied to platforms. Moreover, there are cheaters that spike on one platform over another throughout the year. Exploitable glitches and the like can be really off putting, making some people rather not enable crossplay. There are plenty of reasons why people would want to disable crossplay, which is why Warzone gives them the choice to opt-out of the feature. Disable crossplay Press Start, which will open up the options menu. – Go to the ‘Account’ tab at the very end next to Audio. – Toggle ‘Crossplay’ to Disabled. – Warzone: Disable crossplay on Xbox Go to Dashboard then Settings – Select ‘Account’ – Select ‘Privacy & Online’ safety – Select Xbox Live privacy – Select ‘Custom’ and then view ‘Details & Customize’ – Select Communication & Multiplayer – Select ‘Block’ on ‘You can play with people outside of Xbox Live’ – Turning off crossplay should, in theory, limit your opponents to the platform you are playing on. It also means that wait times for matchmaking will go up, as you’ve lessened the player pool. While the feature is a great option for those that want to play with friends on PC or another console, it’s certainly not for everyone. Thankfully, Activision has given us a quick way to turn it off.

  • How to test for stick drift in Modern Warfare 3 – Dexerto

How to test for stick drift in Modern Warfare 3 Call of DutySledgehammer Games has made it possible for players to test and correct their stick drift in MW3. Stick drift is a worse case scenario for fans of any shooter title. The faulty inputs can make detecting direction a nightmare, which ruins the gameplay completely. There are few solutions when it comes to stick drift outside of buying a new controller, however Sledgehammer is trying to rectify this by putting a gameplay solution in place instead. Here’s everything you need to know about Modern Warfare 3’s settings to combat stick drift. Contents How to find stick drift setting Players will find the stick drift setting under ‘controller’ in the settings menu. At the very bottom of the list there will be a section titled ‘dead one inputs’ which is where the stick drift settings can be accessed. On the right hand part of the screen the game will show a diagram of both the left and right stick as well as both triggers. All four can be tweaked depending on what is needed for the controller. Where to test for stick drift The first option in the deadzone setting is the ‘test stick deadzone’ which is where the game will allow the player to freely move their sticks and see the exact location on the map. Depending on what direction needs help, that map can then translate to what minimum or maximum needs to be changed for that stick. There is not a map for the trigger buttons, however those settings can be found at the very bottom of that same pull down. This time there is a diagram for both triggers which can be altered depending on how much pressure the player wants to provide. Default deadzone inputs Before going headfirst into changing the settings, it’s important to note which setting started out at what number. Each slider has a set number that corresponds to a controller that does not have stick drift. If you end up changing your settings to something you don’t like, here are the defaults to get you back on track. Left stick min: 10 – Left stick max: 99 – Right stick min: 10 – Right stick max: 99 – L2 button deadzone: 13 – R2 button deadzone: 13 –

  • How to take out Warzone rooftop campers with simple strategy – Dexerto

How to take out Warzone rooftop campers with simple strategy ActivisionWith snipers being all the range in Warzone, players are often tasked with getting rid of rooftop campers — and here’s the perfect strategy to take them down! In Call of Duty: Warzone, sniping is the meta. Verdansk is littered with tall buildings and sniper spots — leaving players on the ground powerless against the wrath of those pesky marksmen. Up until now, Verdansk has been a sniper’s paradise. Whether it’s an AX-50, Dragunov or HDR, you will have likely fallen victim to one of these deadly weapons since the game’s release. However, one savvy player has found the ideal way to take down those rooftop assassins — and the solution is pretty simple. Posting their discovery to the Warzone subreddit, a Redditor showed that all you need is a Heartbeat Sensor and a well-placed Precision Airstrike to do those snipers dirty — taking down two rooftop campers with next to no effort. First, the player uses their Heartbeat sensor from within the building to identify their approximate location. Second, they place the Precision Airstrike marker inside (roughly where the enemies would be) to avoid the laser showing up. Since the airstrike marker doesn’t show up on the rooftop, the player’s foes were caught off-guard as they had no prior indication that a Precision Airstrike would be raining on their parade. Since Heartbeat Sensors are dotted all over Verdansk, players will easily be able to get their hands on one. A Precision Airstrike, however, will set you back $3,500… So make sure you’re being the biggest gold digger on the server, to ensure you have enough in the bank! Failing that, of course, you could just take a leaf out of Apex Legends pro Jordan ‘HusKers’ Thomas’ book, who beamed a rooftop camper from their post, as he emptied his MP7 clip from an absurd range. SMG by the way. @HusKerrs 🤯 #CashAppWFH pic.twitter.com/vDu9P8bR5Q — 100 Thieves (@100Thieves) March 20, 2020 The vast majority of us, however, will have to resort to the more conservative tactic of placing an airstrike beneath our unsuspecting enemies — saving that all-important MP7 ammo for later.

  • How to switch scorestreaks and killstreaks in Modern Warfare 2 – Dexerto

How to switch scorestreaks and killstreaks in Modern Warfare 2 ActivisionModern Warfare 2 dropped with killstreaks as default in multiplayer. However, there is a way to change your killstreaks into scorestreaks if you desire. Here’s how to do exactly that. Throughout CoD history, there has been regular switching between killstreaks and scorestreaks. Modern Warfare 2 uses killstreaks as default. However, some players prefer to be rewarded simply for racking up kills, while others like to earn points by playing objectives like capturing flags or holding a hardpoint. In Modern Warfare (2019), the game used killstreaks, but players could use the Pointman perk to switch to scorestreaks instead. Modern Warfare 2: how to choose killstreaks or scorestreaks Three years later, in Modern Warfare 2, Infinity Ward have made it even easier for players to switch. You no longer require a specific perk, instead being able to swap them in the pre-match menu. Here’s what you have to do: Go to the pre-game menu. – Slide over to the ‘Weapons’ tab. – Select ‘Killstreaks’. – Press R2 (PlayStation) or RT (Xbox) to switch the bottom-left tab over to Scorestreaks. On PC, you can simply click the button in the bottom-left corner. – If you want to switch back, you only have to repeat the process. – Should you use scorestreaks or killstreaks? If you have a genuine preference then you won’t need us to tell you what to pick. However, if you’re struggling, it’ll likely come down to the kind of modes you enjoy and how you play the game. If you’re a player who prefers objective game modes – like Domination, Hardpoint or Kill Confirmed – this could be a good switch to make. For example, Modern Warfare 2’s Chopper Gunner is a 10-kill streak reward, but costs 1250 as a scorestreak. If you’re constantly slaying around the objective, getting assists and earning points for the team, you might end up getting your streaks even quicker when they’re determined by score. If you predominantly play modes where kills are easier to accumulate than points – like Team Deathmatch or Free For All – it’s probably better to stick with the default killstreaks. If you’re unsure, try both out for a few matches and see which reaps you more rewards. You can always follow the instructions above and switch your settings back.

  • How to survive longer in Warzone gas with easy self-revive trick – Dexerto

How to survive longer in Warzone gas with easy self-revive trick ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players have uncovered a neat trick that can help you against taking damage from the gas provided you have a self-revive kit handy. Like every other battle royale on the market, Call of Duty: Warzone players are pushed inwards from the outer reaches of the map by a moving gas zone. Getting caught in the gas, like other games, can prove pretty fatal – if you haven’t got a gas mask handy, that is. Standing in the gas obviously won’t lead an instant death, but it can severely hamper your chances of getting a win – say if someone is guarding the edge of the zone and decides to shoot a few bullets at you while you have low health. However, players have uncovered a pretty clever trick that allows them to slow down the damage taken via the gas. The trick was posted to Reddit by user Unknow_Gamer, showing that as soon as you use a self-revive kit while in the gas, your health will not tick down below its previous state. Instead, using the kit will put a temporary pause on the damage – provided that you stay on the ground and don’t actually complete the self-revive. This trick allowed Unknow_Gamer to seemingly bamboozle the enemy players who had been searching for them, as they just laid on the ground and kept pausing damage by using the self-revive kit. Of course, some players might argue that this tactic is actually pretty overpowered and that, similarly to games like Apex Legends and Fortnite, you should take damage while healing or reviving in the gas. Whether or not Infinity Ward intended for the self-revive kit to work in this way is unknown, but if it is some sort of exploit or bug, they’ll probably have to address it at some point in the near future. Until then, we’ll just have to wait and see what they do.

  • How to survive Dead Ops 3 in Black Ops Cold War: Tips & tricks – Dexerto

How to survive Dead Ops 3 in Black Ops Cold War: Tips & tricks TreyarchThe underrated Dead Ops mode is back and better than ever, so here’s a handy guide on how to survive Dead Ops 3 with useful tips and tricks. [jwplayer 38QHhqzR] Understandably, CoD: Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer and Warzone will get lots of attention. However, there is plenty of love for the returning brilliance of the twin-stick shooter spin-off. Dead Ops could easily be a standalone release in its own right and its hours of entertainment shouldn’t be scoffed at. As with the previous two entries, Dead Ops 3 requires you to equip an infinite firearm that chews its way through the undead. But there’s a lot more to it than just that. Similar to the much-loved Zombies mode, Dead Ops requires teamwork and skill to persevere to the end. Here are our best tips and tricks to master Dead Ops 3. Best tips & tricks Whilst you can do just aimlessly run around pointing your right analogue stick at anything that moves, there is a lot more to it than that. Some subtle features and hidden aspects make Dead Ops 3 seem deeper than it appears. Don’t bolt for treasure There’s nothing more frustrating than watching your ally see a single silver bar and lose a life trying to get it. It’s worth nothing that your score is mostly inconsequential. Yes, you will earn bonus lives through your score, but you’ll accrue them naturally from surviving so long. How will you survive so long? By not running through a pack of zombies trying to earn a nickel. Help your teammates Instead of padding your own score, go and help your teammates in two different ways. If they’re downed, go and fight near their body and their revive time will shorten if they have no lives left. – Don’t try to be Rambo. Stand next to enemies and shoot zombies, more concentrated fire, plus it’s easier to revive each other. – Let lesser teammates have weapons if you’re skilled Yes, yes. Put your ego to one side John McClane, you know you’re talented. Perhaps monitor your teammate’s scores or lives and see who could use a helping hand. If a great weapon drop appears, don’t instinctively go for it. If you’re skilled enough with the base gun, then let someone else, less-skilled, use it to help them. Don’t just keep firing weapon pickups Just because you have it, doesn’t mean you need to flaunt it. If you get the Ray Gun, then use it conservatively, don’t keep firing beams at empty doorways where zombies stopped coming from five years ago. You could just continually fire a special weapon pickup and exhaust its ammo in time at all, but it’s not the wisest of moves. Save bombs and boosts Panic bombing is the worst. Getting surrounded by a few zombies and using a bomb isn’t a good use of resources. Always think, can I use a boost to escape? Plus bombs are great for Zombie totem heads as it will get rid of the huge swarm around them and let you deplete their health quickly. Plus, it’s useful to have this stuff for later on when it gets tough. Don’t get cornered Unless you’re prepared to use a boost or a bomb, then you will die. If too many crowd you and you’re a trapped rat, then it will be your demise. Ignore the first-person pickup Just avoid this at all costs. It doesn’t help and it restricts your field of view. If you accidentally pick it up, drop it straight away. It can help with finding secret areas, but is that enough to counteract all of its downsides? Look for hidden areas Each area seems to have hidden areas and rooms. Look for stone switches to step on as they’ll open up hidden doors for teammates. There are holes to all in that take you to bonus rooms, and there are hidden doorways too that will reward you. And that’s it for our tips! Use even just a few of these and you should be able to survive longer in Dead Ops 3, moving ever closer to getting consistent victories in the mode. • How to support veterans with all-new Black Ops 4 Jump Pack and Dynamic Theme DLC – Dexerto

How to support veterans with all-new Black Ops 4 Jump Pack and Dynamic Theme DLC ActivisionCall of Duty Black Ops 4 introduced a new C.O.D.E. Jump Pack on July 16 that gives players a new wingsuit, parachute and trail, along with a dynamic PS4 theme that directly supports military veterans. This DLC and theme are part of the Call of Duty Endowment program that’s designed to give back to the men and women who have served in the military. All proceeds made from the DLC will go directly towards what it takes to help veterans transition back into civilian life, according to a blog post by Activision. How to buy the C.O.D.E. Jump Pack If you’re in the United States or United Kingdom then you are able to pick up the pack right in the PlayStation Store. This content comes first to PS4 but will follow on Xbox One and PC. All of the proceeds go directly to nonprofits that place veterans into jobs coming off their service. On top of the Jump Pack, we also get a chance to pick up the “Night Raid” dynamic theme on PS4. This theme is available for $2.99 / £2.50 but those in the United States have an option to donate even more money. Paying extra money will still get you the same theme so keep that in mind when you choose what to donate. Unlike the C.O.D.E. Jump Pack, this theme is a PS4 exclusive so you won’t be seeing this on PC or Xbox One in the future. Players have to go to ‘Settings’, ‘Themes’, ‘Select Theme’, and choose ‘Night Raid – Dynamic Theme’ in order to set this theme as their PS4 background. The theme is designed by United States Marine Crop veteran Max Uriarte.

  • How to summon Zombies in Fortune’s Keep with new Warzone easter egg – Dexerto

How to summon Zombies in Fortune’s Keep with new Warzone easter egg ActivisionAlthough the new Fortune’s Keep Warzone map has nothing to do with the undead, a surprise Zombies easter egg is tucked away to not only catch players off-guard, but also provide some strong early-game loot. Here’s how it all works. With Warzone’s mega-sized Season 4 update came a brand-new Battle Royale map for just the fourth time in the game’s history. Fortune’s Keep is similar in scope to Rebirth Island though the new locale is packed full of exclusive features and even a few surprises. While the map itself is located amid the Adriatic Sea, that hasn’t stopped some other-worldly foes from making their presence known. That’s right, Zombies can appear on Fortune’s Keep and we’ve got the full rundown on how to make it happen. Fortune’s Keep Zombie Easter Egg guide Drop into the Graveyard POI First things first, as this is an undead-themed easter egg, you’ll need to drop at the Graveyard POI on Fortune’s Keep. Thankfully, this is a rather small location as your job now is to search it over with a fine-tooth comb. Light three candles Once you’re at the Graveyard, look around for some candles in the vicinity. There are three to find in total, though their location is randomized with each game. Some may appear on the ground inside, others may be hidden on various shelves, so take your time and properly sweep the area. Once all three candles have been lit, you’ll hear some ominous laughter to trigger the next step. Pay respects to summon a Zombie With all three candles lit, it’s time to pay some respects to the classic CoD meme. Look for a tombstone with some yellow flowers in front of it. From there, head directly left and stand in front of the next, smaller gravestone. Here, you’ll find the prompt to pay respects and in doing so, will spawn a Zombie out of the ground. Kill Zombie for free loot Now exactly what you do with this Zombie is entirely your call. You could always lead the undead foe around to another POI and get it to attack nearby enemies. Read More: Warzone Season 4 Battle Pass – But for the best value, it’s worth taking care of the Zombie yourself and gunning it down as early as possible. After being wiped out, this target drops an assortment of loot, cash, and more often than not, a self-revive to help get the ball rolling.

  • How to stop annoying Gas Mask animation in Call of Duty Warzone – Dexerto

How to stop annoying Gas Mask animation in Call of Duty Warzone Activision[jwplayer EM7ByTrZ] The Gas Mask in Call of Duty: Warzone is notorious for its annoying animation that occurs every time the character puts it on. Some players, like prominent FaZe Clan YouTuber Pamaj, have found a clever workaround. One of the most valuable things you can find in Warzone is the Gas Mask, which basically grants you immunity to the enclosing circle of suffocating gar around you. This can be extremely helpful if you’re falling behind the circle’s edge or if you spot some useful gear outside of the safe zone and want to grab it real quick. While it’s certainly a useful tool, the item also has its downsides, chief of which is the frustrating animation that takes place when your Operator puts it on and takes it off. While this may not seem like a problem at first glance, the motion automatically starts every time you come into contact with the gas, so if you’re skirting around the edge trying to pick off straggling enemies, your character can be left vulnerable during those sequences. Luckily, players have found a clever way to avoid this issue, and the secret lies with the Heartbeat Sensor. The idea is to pull out the Heartbeat Sensor before you enter the gas and/or exit it; as long as you have the device out and operating, your Operator will not do the Gas Mask animation but still have the benefit of its protection. Here’s popular CoD content creator Pamaj’s tweet showing this technique in action: Secret Tip so you don’t get fcked by the gasmask animation Use ur heartbeat before the animation or during it and hold it till you wanna lose the gas mask ur welcome pic.twitter.com/hS4Q9LHMAw — OpTic Pamaj (@Pamaj) September 7, 2020 And that’s it! It’s unknown whether or not this is a bug in the game or a feature, but right now, it’s the only thing that effectively works against the Gas Mask’s annoying function. It’s ironic that the solution involved the Heartbeat Sensor since it’s already such a powerful and overused device in Warzone that this is only an extra benefit of having it in every one of your loadouts.

  • How to slide cancel in Modern Warfare: Infinite sprint guide – Dexerto

How to slide cancel in Modern Warfare: Infinite sprint guide ActivisionWhen you tune in to a Call of Duty League broadcast, one thing that always stands out to casual or less-experienced players is the incredible movement of pro players, and this might be the perfect way to imitate them and improve your game. Slide canceling has been a popular movement mechanic ever since players first discovered it at the start of the Black Ops 4 season. It literally does what it says on the tin: you slide, then you cancel the slide before it reaches its natural end. Firstly, though, It doesn’t make much sense to learn the slide cancel and utilize it properly into your game without knowing what exactly it does. The benefits of slide canceling in Modern Warfare are numerous. The first and possibly most important one is that it effectively means you can tactical sprint continuously without running out of stamina. This is huge when traversing the map and needing to get to places quickly and efficiently. Not only that, but it also allows you to ADS (aim down sight) out of sprint much quicker, meaning that you’ve got a better chance of picking up kills when you go round corners or an enemy player jumps out at you unexpectedly. How to slide cancel in Modern Warfare Here’s how to actually perform the slide cancel in Modern Warfare, and it really only takes two major steps – the rest is up to you: Tactical sprint – Press the slide button – Press the slide button AGAIN before the slide reaches its natural conclusion – Repeat as you traverse the map, especially when turning corners or heading into areas where you might encounter an enemy – As you can see in the video below, created by Seattle Surge’s Bryan ‘Apathy’ Zhelyazkov, slide canceling is almost as natural as just sprinting up the map once you get into the swing of things. He also explains how the slide cancel works. (Timestamp 00:30 for mobile viewers) So that’s how you slide cancel like a pro player in Modern Warfare, with the helpful advice from an actual pro to get you headed in the right direction. It’s important to remember that this technique isn’t only going to help in competitive matches, though. You can utilize this in public matches, too, to really get ahead of the opposition, and even use it in Warzone to help guide you to victory in Verdansk. Although at first, it will feel weird, eventually the slide cancel will become second nature, and you’ll wonder how you ever played without it.

  • How to slide cancel in Modern Warfare 3 – Dexerto

How to slide cancel in Modern Warfare 3 ActivisionThe latest Call of Duty title, Modern Warfare 3, has arrived and slide canceling is now back in the franchise. Here’s exactly how you can pull off this handy maneuver in the game without failing. Modern Warfare 3 has just been released, and Sledgehammer Games have overhauled movement in the game. This means that in the newest Call of Duty title, operators can fire during and immediately after sliding, recharge tactical sprint while sprinting, mantle faster, and tactical sprint longer. On top of that, slide canceling has also returned, but not as fans remember. Originally, slide canceling allowed players to retain their maximum movement speed after sliding. Completing it successfully made it possible to continue sprinting after performing a slide. However, in MW3, the animation no longer resets a tactical sprint, creating a slight delay. After sliding for the first time during the first beta weekend, community members overwhelmingly called for the “horrible” delay to be removed. The MW3 devs responded by announcing a quick fix to slide timing. With that in mind, here is a step-by-step guide on how to slide cancel in MW3. How to slide cancel on consoles & PC in Modern Warfare 3 To slide cancel in MW3, players must rapidly press the crouch button twice and jump while sprinting with their designated button/stick. The combination of all three inputs allows players to cancel the slide animation before it finishes. The mechanic makes it easier for players to control their precise movement and catch enemies off guard in gunfights. It’s important to note that if you’ve set the crouch or jump movement to another button, you must use the one you chose. • How to slide cancel in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 – Dexerto

How to slide cancel in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 ActivisionSlide canceling used to be an important tactic in Warzone and there is a workaround to use it in the new game. Here’s how you can slide cancel in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. Slide cancel is a momentum and movement-based mechanic that proves to be quite useful to get the better of your opponents in Warzone. With the release of Modern Warfare 2 and now Warzone 2, there is a way to implement the mechanic in matches. Although it might not be as effective as it was in the original Warzone, it can definitely help you to dodge a bullet or two at crucial moments. If you are wondering how to slide cancel in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, here’s a handy guide on how to pull the skill off. Slide cancel in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 One important piece of equipment that you need to successfully slide cancel in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 is a controller. This means PC players will need to connect a controller to their rigs if they want to maneuver through their opponents. At the time of writing, mouse and keyboard players cannot perform this trick. Before we head on to the steps, you must remember that performing this movement will require a bit of practice. Although we cannot guarantee you that you’d be able to kill every single enemy if you perform a slide cancel, that depends on how good your aim is. With that out of the way, let’s take a look at the steps for slide canceling in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2: Head over to the ‘Settings‘ menu of the game. – Click on the ‘Controller‘ option. – Scroll down a bit until you come across the ‘Automatic Sprint‘ option. – Choose the ‘Automatic Tactical Sprint‘ option from the drop-down menu. – Now get into a match and press the Slide button. – As soon as you slide, turn to the direction you want to move. – This move should be immediately followed by your Left Stick moving in the opposite direction in order to cancel the slide. – If you want to see how it is performed, you may want to check out this tweet. It’s worth noting that Activision may choose to get this fixed later down the line as they originally didn’t want to keep this mechanic in the first place. • How to slide cancel in Call of Duty: Vanguard – Dexerto

How to slide cancel in Call of Duty: Vanguard ActivisionIn the more recent iterations of Call of Duty games, good movement can easily separate the wheat from the chaff. The slide cancel is back in Vanguard, and here’s how you can do it. Being able to out-maneuver your opponents on the battlefield is a sure-fire way to confuse them and put yourself in advantageous positions to beat them. Many players have noted that slide canceling feels different in Vanguard to how it did in Warzone and Modern Warfare, and they’re not wrong: there are slight differences, despite being on the same engine Most importantly, though, the slide cancel is perfect in increasing your Tactical Sprint distance, essentially making it so that you’re always running as fast as possible. Here’s how you can slide cancel in Vanguard to get the better of your enemies and move quickly around the map. How to slide cancel in Vanguard Slide canceling in Vanguard is pretty much exactly the same as it was in Modern Warfare and Warzone, though it will feel and look a little different. This method applies to both console & PC, and whether you are using a controller or keyboard & mouse. Here are the steps to slide cancel in Vanguard: Start sprinting — This is easier if you use the Auto Tactical Sprint setting, as recommended in our best controller settings guide. – Once you’ve run a few metres, or you feel your Tactical Sprint is about to end, click the Slide button. – Before your slide reaches its slowest point, hit the Slide button again. This is the ‘cancel’ part. – Immediately after hitting the button again, press the Jump button. This will stand your player up and get them sprinting once again. – In Vanguard, this will feel a little different to Warzone and MW. Instead of immediately resuming your Tactical Sprint, you’ll take a few steps before hitting your top pace again, essentially making it so that you’re not permanently in Tactical Sprint mode. Once you’ve got the hang of this, you can easily use it to slide around corners, do quick checks of rooms and, ultimately, make it much harder for opponents to track you.

  • How to skip MW3 Armory Unlocks and Daily Challenges: Zombies mode exploit discovered – Dexerto

How to skip MW3 Armory Unlocks and Daily Challenges: Zombies mode exploit discovered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3MW3 players have discovered that daily challenges are broken and that it’s taking a long time to unlock weapons in the Armory by completing them when they do work. Fortunately, there’s an exploit players can use to skip the MW3 Armory Unlock and daily challenge grind to get the weapons they want fast. Here’s how to do it. The Armory has proven frustrating for many MW3 players. To unlock everything by just playing Multiplayer, it’d take a player weeks worth of work. And that’s if you can get daily challenges to work at all. However, there is a workaround for those willing to dip their toes in the Zombies mode and roll the dice. If you get lucky and work quickly, it’s possible to use the Zombies mode to get the bulk of the Armory unlocked without too much hassle. Here’s everything you need to know about how to skip MW3 Armory Unlocks and daily challenges by playing the Zombies mode. How to skip Armory Challenges in MW3 and unlock weapons fast Armory Unlocks have been a clear pain point for the community, with a large portion of the game’s guns, tactical options, lethal options, killstreaks, and more being locked behind a daily challenge grind. While the Zombies exploit isn’t a fix-all for the MW3 Armory Unlock grind, it certainly helps narrow down what you’ll need to grind for. But first, to understand how this exploit works, you need to know a little bit about how the Zombies mode functions. If you’re familiar with MW2’s DMZ mode this’ll sound familiar. In MW3, the Zombies mode has been turned into an extraction shooter where players have to complete challenges, find loot, and extract to hold onto that loot for another run. And, for those familiar with unlocking some weapons in MW2’s DMZ, it was a quick way to get new weapons without having to go through Multiplayer challenges. And, as it turns out, MW3 works the same way but for the entire Armory and any level-gated weapon unlocks. It’s not like you’ll be getting perks in the Zombies mode, so some of these MW3 Armory Unlocks will have to be completed the old-fashioned way with Daily Challenges. This grind really starts to show once you get to the stuff that requires 90 completed challenges, but this method certainly helps with getting the guns you want fast even if you’re still level 1 in Multiplayer. For instance, if you want the MCW 6.8 as pictured above, you can just find it on the field in MW3 zombies, extract with it, and keep it forever. It really is that simple. As long as you extract with something that you don’t yet have unlocked in multiplayer, it’ll be unlocked. What’s more, this exploit appears to work for traditional unlocks that are level-gated outside of the Armory. If you want the Thermite grenade, for instance, but don’t feel like waiting until you get to level 33 in Multiplayer, you can just grab it in MW3 Zombies and extract it to unlock it permanently. Additionally, you can choose to store tacticals and lethals in your inventory even if your main slot is filled, so it’s possible to grab a whole bunch of equipment on the way out. Make sure you hoard as much as you can before you extract. It’s not yet clear if this was intended by the developers, so hop into the Zombies mode and grab as much as you can while it’s still possible to unlock weapons that way, and save your daily challenges for things like Perks and Killstreaks. That’s everything you need to know about how to skip MW3’s Armory Unlocks and how to skip them. For more Warzone coverage, stick with Dexerto. • How to set up two-factor authentication on your Call of Duty account – Dexerto

How to set up two-factor authentication on your Call of Duty account ActivisionBlack Ops Cold War is right around the corner, meaning there’s a brand new game that you’ll be connecting with your Call of Duty Account. Here’s how you can protect it from hackers by enabling two-factor authentication. [jwplayer 38QHhqzR] Black Ops Cold War, the latest game in the Call of Duty franchise, is almost here. Like every other CoD game, if you want to jump into the multiplayer/online modes, you’ll have to either create an account or sign-in to one before you can do so. This account saves almost all of your online stats like your K/D, your battle pass progress, and more, so getting it hacked is not an ideal situation. Luckily, there’s a way to mitigate this problem: two-step authentication. What does two-step authentication do? Like with every other account in existence that uses this feature, two-step authentication gives people another barrier that they have to pass when attempting to sign-in to their account. After you sign-in once, your account will ping some type of third-party service (either a phone number or an app) and request that you authenticate the sign-in. This helps ensure that nobody but yourself can sign-in to your account and is one of the most successful way to stop hackers from stealing your data or, in this case, accessing your CoD stats. How do I set up two-step authentication? Setting up two-factor authentication is easy and will only take a few minutes of your time. The benefits of it are substantial and everyone should do it if they can. Before you do this, it is worth noting that if you set up two-factor authentication, you won’t be able to sign-in to the Call of Duty Companion App. According to Activision, this is a bug that the publisher is working to fix so it hopefully won’t be a problem for two long. That being said, it’s still worth noting. Go to profile.callofduty.com/cod/announcement2FA on your computer or mobile device. – Click the button that says “Set up two factor authentication”. – Download the Google authenticator app on your mobile device. – Hit the “+” sign once in the app, then either scan your QR code that appears on the site or input the manual code at the bottom of the page. – As previously implied, if you love using the CoD Companion App, you may want to hold off on using 2FA until the devs can work out a fix for the sign-in issue. That being said, the benefits of this feature far outweigh any negatives. Still, the choice is obviously yours at the end of the day.

  • How to see all Warzone streamers and pro players you’ve played against – Dexerto

How to see all Warzone streamers and pro players you’ve played against Activision, Twitter, @Swagg, @Aydan, @NICKMERCSIf you’ve ever wondered if you ran into any Call of Duty: Warzone Twitch streamers or pros during your games, then rejoice — there’s a website that lets you check which of the game’s best you’ve played against. Without a strict ranked playlist in Warzone, the uncertainty of SBMM (skill-based matchmaking) ensures that you could play against battle royale noobs one game and elite players the next. That leaves many curious if they’ve run into Twitch’s biggest stars at any point in the year or so since the game came out. Fortunately, there is a way to find out (and it doesn’t require scouring the now-terminated SBMMWarzone website). WZRanked, a site that is most popular for letting you check the most-used guns on Verdansk, has additional functionality letting you check through previous lobbies. As part of their options, you can use WZRanked to check out streamers you’ve faced off against — which will include information about when you played in their lobby and full details on how you fared. At long last, you can see if you’ve ever unknowingly outdueled your favorite (or least favorite) Warzone pros. How to see which Warzone streamers you’ve played against As you can see in the above screenshot, this tool lets you see who you’ve played against, and there is even an option for more details. Those details include breaking down specific lobbies and diving into the full results. To check out which Twitch streamers and top players you’ve faced, you simply need to have your Battle.net, PlayStation or Xbox account ID ready and then follow these steps: Go to WZRanked.com – Input your Battle.net, PlayStation, or Xbox user information – (If your account information is private, then you need to make it public by heading to CoD’s website and following their instructions) – Click on “Streamers” from your profile’s top bar – Sort by season or simply choose “All” if you want to see your complete history – Scroll through and enjoy finding out which streamers you’ve played against – API issues have been resolved. And we finally have a refresh button! No more waiting for the matches to load. pic.twitter.com/6tsiuyXa6R — wzranked (@wzranked) April 1, 2021 According to WZRanked, they still have access to Activision’s API (Application Programming Interface) for Warzone as of April 1, meaning that the site hasn’t suffered the same downfall as SBMMWarzone. If that changes, we’ll update this piece. But, for now, you can enjoy checking into your recent data and double-check if those especially cracked players you ran into actually were Twitch streamers after all.

  • How to respawn in Call of Duty: Warzone – Buy Stations and the Gulag – Dexerto

How to respawn in Call of Duty: Warzone – Buy Stations and the Gulag ActivisionThe highly anticipated Call of Duty battle royale mode Warzone has been revealed, and one of the most unique features of the game is the way respawns work. Here’s everything you need to know about Buy Stations and The Gulag. Call of Duty fans have been eagerly anticipating another battle royale game after the success of Blackout in Black Ops 4, and their hopes have been answered with the announcement of Warzone, which includes some exciting new features for fans of the series. In the early days of battle royales, elimination meant you were out of the game permanently, but with Apex Legends and Fortnite introducing the ability to respawn, Infinity Ward have decided to include the system in their game, but with an added twist, unlike anything we’ve seen before. Players can spend their hard-earned in-game cash to bring their squad member back to live, or if you die early enough, you can test your mettle inside The Gulag and win a 1v1 battle to earn your return. How to respawn in Call of Duty: Warzone The easiest way to respawn in Warzone is to be revived by your teammates. In this version of CoD’s battle royale, ‘Buy Stations’ are located around the map, allowing players to purchase killstreaks as well as a new life for their fallen comrades. Of course, this means that players will need to save up cash to revive others, which currently costs a hefty $4500 per team member. Money can be hard to find in-game, so you’ll need to be smart with it and have a bit of luck. Alternatively, you can make your way through the Gulag – a brand new feature that lets players earn a way back into the match, unlike any other game. The first time you’re eliminated in Call of Duty: Warzone, you’re thrown into a Gulag where you have to 1v1 another random player who’s been eliminated. Whoever wins gets to redeploy. pic.twitter.com/ZNZ5aiLoNc — Hutch (@hutchinson) March 9, 2020 What is Call of Duty: Warzone’s Gulag? The Gulag is a unique way for players to get back into the Warzone match after their first death. In the Gulag, players fight 1v1 matches against other defeated players, with the winner being released back onto the map. When you enter the Gulag you may be forced to wait your turn, but you can watch others fight in the ring and even cause some mischief by throwing rocks at the fighters. You only get one chance, so if you lose you will be stuck waiting for your teammates to find a Buy Station and save you. It’s important to remember that you only go to the Gulag after your first death and that it doesn’t last all game. There isn’t currently a specific cut off point to the Gulag, but it is likely after a certain amount of players are eliminated. This is to ensure that players who die early have another chance, but in late-game scenarios, teams have to pay a hefty price to undo your kill. Of course, respawning is a last-ditch effort to bring you back, and many will be hoping that they aren’t in a situation too often where they’re begging their teammates to spend $4,500 to bring them back. If you get wiped out early and feel confident in your shot though, you can always take your chances in the Gulag, and earn your freedom at the expense of another fallen foe.

  • How to report Call of Duty players in Warzone & Vanguard – Dexerto

How to report Call of Duty players in Warzone & Vanguard ActivisionNot everything can go swimmingly in Call of Duty and you’ll occasionally run into some unruly players. Whether you think they’re hacking or cheating or they’re just being offensive and disruptive in the chat, you need to know how to report them in Vanguard and Warzone. Life isn’t all rainbows and unicorns and the world sadly isn’t perfect. Call of Duty is a great getaway from the troubles of real life, but the toxicity of the community can cause just as many problems. In the old days, it just used to be a case of dealing with foul-mouthed 12-year-old kids. Fast-forward to 2021, and CoD has to deal with a plethora of pesky hackers and cheaters interfering with games. Thankfully, both Warzone and Vanguard have the ability to report these players, and here’s how you can do it. Contents Reporting players in Call of Duty: Vanguard To report a cheating or offensive player in Call of Duty: Vanguard, you will need to do so from the game’s multiplayer menu. Vanguard’s official support page offers comprehensive instructions on reporting a player. Here’s how to do it: Head to the Vanguard’s main multiplayer menu – Press Y on Xbox or Triangle on PlayStation to open the ‘Social’ tab (You can also select the ‘Social’ tab if you’re a PC player) – Select the ‘Recent Players’ option – Hover over the player you want to report and press A on Xbox or X on PlayStation – Again, if you’re on PC, just simply click on the player – Select ‘Report Player’ – Choose one of the available options – Activision will then take time to review the report and verify its legitimacy – Reporting players in Call of Duty: Warzone Most Warzone players will be aware of the rampant cheating and hacking that has plagued the last few months of Verdansk. The RICOCHET anti-cheat software looks to prevent this, but hackers are always evolving their methods. In any event, you need to know how to report players that are either manipulating the game or just being abusive. This is how players can report users in Warzone: Head to the Warzone’s main multiplayer menu – Press Y on Xbox or Triangle on PlayStation to open the ‘Social’ tab – You can also select the ‘Social’ tab if you’re a PC player – Select the ‘Recent Players’ option – Hover over the player you want to report and press A on Xbox or X on PlayStation – Again, if you’re on PC, just simply click on the player – Select ‘Report Player’ – Choose one of the available options – Activision will then take time to review the report and verify its legitimacy – Both methods are pretty much the same as Activision likes to keep its menus similar and familiar. Again, if you suspect a player of cheating, or someone is going overboard on the ‘banter,’ then remember that reporting is an option. • How to rejoin a Warzone match after disconnecting – Dexerto

How to rejoin a Warzone match after disconnecting ActivisionWant to know how to rejoin a match in Warzone? Here’s a full rundown of how you can rejoin a game if you get disconnected in the COD battle royale. There’s nothing more frustrating than being disconnected when you’re in the middle of a Warzone match and not being able to get back in the game. Thankfully Activision introduced a rejoin feature to the Call of Duty battle royale for players back in MW2, Season 4, so you’ve got a limited amount of time to jump straight back into a match. So, here’s exactly how you can rejoin a match after disconnecting in Call of Duty Warzone. How to rejoin a Warzone match after disconnecting If you’re disconnected from a Warzone match, you’ll be met with a pop-up menu that asks whether you’d like to try to rejoin the match or quit, simply select the ‘rejoin ongoing match‘ within four minutes of being disconnected and you’ll be reconnected back into the game. Your squad must have at least one teammate remaining in the game for you to be able to rejoin, however, this rule doesn’t apply to Solo players. There must also be at least five squads remaining to enter back into a match successfully. So unfortunately, if a player disconnects in the final stages of a match, there isn’t anything that can be done. For Ranked Play, the mode restricts players from rejoining a match more than once, and players can have their ability to rejoin temporarily limited if they repeatedly disconnect from matches. There are a couple of known issues with the feature including: The last remaining teammate disconnecting may result in an undesirable spectator experience while the final teammate attempts to reconnect. – Rejoining while still in the Driver seat of a vehicle will remove the player’s hands. This can be resolved by switching weapons. – For more Warzone content, check out our guides below: Best RAM-7 Warzone loadout | Best Warzone One-Shot Sniper Rifles loadouts | Best WSP Swarm Warzone loadout | Best Warzone SMG loadouts | Best Warzone PC settings for higher FPS

  • How to reduce Modern Warfare and Warzone file size with Texture Streaming – Dexerto

How to reduce Modern Warfare and Warzone file size with Texture Streaming Infinity WardIf your Modern Warfare and Warzone file size is taking up too much space on your console or PC, Activision has implemented a new feature to help trim things down with an innovative Texture Streaming feature. [jwplayer Q7ySHZq9] The enormous file size of Modern Warfare and Warzone is often one of the biggest talking points in the community. With each new patch, players are forced to download more and more, adding to how much space is actually needed for the game. Thankfully, the November 9 update has introduced an entirely new feature to help with this issue. While you’ll have to download it first, it comes boasting new ways to trim the game’s footprint on both console and PC. PC gamers have access to an innovative streaming feature that relies on your network connection. Whereas console players simply have more choice than ever before thanks to a new high-resolution texture pack. Here’s everything you need to know. How to reduce Modern Warfare and Warzone file size on console Once you’ve installed the November 9 update on PlayStation or Xbox, there will be a new option for you as you boot up. This factors in all consoles including current hardware and next-gen. By default, all Operator and weapon textures have been reduced in quality. This was done to cut back the overall size of the game, as rare textures took up a huge amount of space. Even if you never encountered a basic Operator, the game would still have its high-quality texture installed on your console. If storage isn’t an issue for you and you’re looking for the best possible graphics, an optional download is here for you. While the latest update reduced texture quality, a high-resolution DLC pack will be free to download in order to bump up the quality once again. When you first load up the game after the November 9 update, you’ll receive a prompt to download DLC. Upon accepting this prompt, follow the steps to download the high-resolution texture pack. If you ignore this prompt but change your mind later on, don’t worry. You can head to the Game Installs menu to find the texture pack at any point in time. How to reduce Modern Warfare and Warzone file size on PC. For PC players, there’s an entirely new option for you in the latest patch. Texture Streaming is an innovative feature that utilizes your internet connection, rather than files directly installed on your HDD or SDD. With the higher quality textures removed, instead of downloading and installing them back on your PC, you now have an option to stream them instead. To avoid going over your bandwidth cap, or using too much data at once, a limit can be set in the Options menu. If you’d prefer to simply have the files installed on your PC anyways, that’s still an option here as well. Texture Streaming can be turned off completely. Activision outlined more plans for additional texture packs in future. So expect the file size to be trimmed down even further as more become available.

  • How to redeem Modern Warfare double XP tokens in Black Ops Cold War – Dexerto

How to redeem Modern Warfare double XP tokens in Black Ops Cold War ActivisionDespite an announcement to the contrary, it seems like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare tokens can be used in Black Ops Cold War, albeit with a small workaround that’s probably going to be changed soon. Here’s what you need to do in order to use them in the game. XP tokens have been a hot topic within the CoD community since Black Ops Cold War became integrated with Warzone. At first, legacy tokens from MW were deleted from players accounts once the aforementioned happened, which upset a lot of people in the player base. Then, presumably listening to feedback from everyone who felt cheated, the developers reactivated Modern Warfare’s Double XP tokens but clarified that they could only be used in MW and Warzone. Now, that appears to not be the case, as players are reporting that those tokens can be used in Black Ops Cold War, using a little trick. Here’s how you can pull it off yourself. How to use Modern Warfare tokens in Black Ops Cold War Getting this to work is pretty simple and can even be taken advantage of by people unintentionally if they aren’t paying attention. Of course, this should go without saying, but you’ll need tokens that you specifically earned in Modern Warfare or Warzone (prior to BOCW’s integration). That being said, if you have one available, it’s easy to follow and execute: Open Warzone – Open your Token menu and activate an XP token – Once it’s active, exit out of the Warzone menu and tab over to Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer – The token should still be active in the bottom right-hand corner – One interesting thing to note is that there’s no easy way to tell which game the token originated from. That being said if you notice, for example, that you don’t have any 30 minute tokens in BOCW but do in Warzone, you can deduce that those tokens were indeed earned during the game’s Modern Warfare era. It’s also worth noting that this is more than likely not intended to be the case and Treyarch or Raven Software will probably fix this in the very near future. Still, until then, it’s a nice way to use up your MW tokens while playing BOCW.

  • How to recover stolen Activision account: Warzone devs offer security tips – Dexerto

How to recover stolen Activision account: Warzone devs offer security tips ActivisionTreyarch have responded to player complaints about having their Activision accounts stolen and being unable to recover them, offering up a few solutions. Losing an account to a troll or a hacker is a tale as old as time in gaming. There have been plenty of scams for different games, and they always end up in tears. In terms of Call of Duty, things have gotten better with the implementation of two-factor authentication, but it’s still pretty common to see a player lose their account for one reason or another. Many victims have complained that once they lose an account, it can be difficult to get it back, and have criticized Activision, Treyarch, and Raven for not really helping them out. However, there are steps you can take. How to get stolen Activision account back Another round of complaints about Activision’s lack of support hit social media and Reddit on April 29, prompting Josh Torres, aka FoxhoundFPS, to step in and give players some guidance. He suggested a few typical solutions; strong, unique passwords and having all players utilize the two-factor authentication available to them to prevent some of the issues. However, if you’ve already lost your account, you have to hit up Activision. The devs have an Account Recovery Request and Support Portal to hit up in order to try and get the account back where you’ll be prompted to make a new account. Go to Activision’s Support Portal, here – Head to Activison’s Account Recovery Request, here – Follow the steps – Log a request to get your account back – Then it’s a waiting game – Plenty of players have had success following the steps and got their account back, but it depends on what’s happened. A hacker or scammer could easily strip the account bare and prevent the recovery. As the devs note, using two-factor authentication is a big help, and they’ve pushed players to use it to prevent these types of things from happening. So, even if you haven’t lost your account, it’s always good to brush up and make sure everything is as secure as it can be.

  • How to reach tier 200 in Black Ops 4 Black Market without spending any money – Dexerto

How to reach tier 200 in Black Ops 4 Black Market without spending any money There is a new system in place for the ‘Black Market’ in Black Ops 4, using a tiered progression model which you can advance through by simply playing – but it will require some serious dedication. Of course, you can pay for individual tiers, as this is Black Ops 4’s microtransaction system, but it is radically different to the Black Market we saw in Black Ops III, or any other Call of Duty for that matter. The system will work on a cycle of in game events, currently the event is Operation: First Strike. Within this operation there are 200 tiers – but once you reach level 200, another 25 unlock, and then another 25 after that, taking the total to 250. After tier 200 though, all the rewards are ‘Reserves’ (Black Ops 4’s equivalent to supply drops), granting an unknown, randomized item. To reach level 200 with cash only would cost 20,000 CoD points, or $200. But, if you don’t want to spend this money, you can simply unlock the tiers through playing the game. Treyarch hasn’t said exactly how fast the progression through tiers is through gameplay alone, but did roll out an update on October 23 stating: “players will now earn Tier progression both faster and more consistently across all modes of play in Blackout and Multiplayer.” Progressing Faster The speed at which you progress cannot be influenced by any other factor other than time spent in game. So, to move up through the tiers as fast as possible, you will want to survive as long as possible in Blackout, and stick out multiplayer matches to the end, to minimize time spent in menus. Some reports from players suggest that multiplayer is by far the fastest way to progress, although this cannot be confirmed. Twitch streamer shroud, who almost plays Blackout exclusively, has noticed that progression is slower in Blackout, but this is purely anecdotal. Special Orders There are also new ‘Special Orders’, separate to the main Operation tiers. To get access to these Special Orders, you will have to pay CoD points. Currently, there are two Special Orders available, the ‘Bombero’ and ‘Covert’, costing 800CP and 500CP respectively. New Special Orders will rotate in every few days, but once you have purchased one, it will remain available to you so you can complete it.

  • How to rank up fast in Modern Warfare 2 – Dexerto

How to rank up fast in Modern Warfare 2 ActivisionModern Warfare 2 has a ridiculous number of weapons, Killstreaks, and equipment to experiment with, but you’ll have to earn enough XP to unlock most of them first. Here’s our guide on how to rank up quickly and easily in Modern Warfare 2. In Modern Warfare 2, Infinity Ward have given players more toys to play with than ever before. There are dozens of weapons to try out and stacks of equipment and Killstreaks to help give you inflict pain on the enemy team. But like most multiplayer shooters, players don’t have access to everything all at once. Many of the most powerful items are locked behind higher ranks. Luckily, we’ve put together a guide on how to level up quickly in Modern Warfare 2. How to earn quick XP in Modern Warfare 2 There are a number of different ways to rake in the XP when playing Modern Warfare 2. Some are fairly straightforward, but others might force you to change up your playstyle slightly. Either way, using the following methods will get you to level 55 in no time at all. Play the objective We may be starting with an obvious one here, but sticking to the objectives is one of the best ways to level up in Modern Warfare 2. The game deliberately rewards those who play each match properly, so make sure you have a clear idea of what the objective is. In modes like Domination and Headquarters, focus on the points that need to be captured. Securing them will come with a dose of XP, as will defending them or clearing them out. On the other hand, if you’re a Team Deathmatch player, get yourself into the fight and rack up as many kills as possible. Revive fallen teammates Certain game modes like Knockout and Prisoner Rescue give players the chance to revive dead teammates in the middle of a round and bring them back into the action. We heavily recommend doing so, as you’ll be rewarded with some quick and easy XP that takes little effort. Not only that, but it also gives the team a greater chance of victory, which means – you guessed it – even more XP. To revive a fallen ally, simply head over to their body and hold Square/X when prompted. Use Double XP Tokens While you’re playing match after match of Modern Warfare 2, it’s easy to forget that you’re earning Double XP Tokens that can be activated at any time. These useful items do exactly what it says on the tin, usually lasting for around an hour. The catch is that it lasts for an hour of real time, not in-game time, so don’t waste precious minutes sitting in the menus. Our advice would be to join any lobbies and get all your loadouts in order before you pop the Token. This way, you can make the most of the double XP period by cramming in as many games as possible. Make use of Double XP Weekends The devs will occasionally give everybody the chance to rank up quickly by holding Double XP Weekends, where progress is doubled across all modes. Taking full advantage of these is crucial if you want to hit the next Prestige rank as soon as possible. Events like this are usually announced ahead of time, so keep an eye on Infinity Ward and Activision’s socials to find out when the next one is taking place. Play to your strengths When it comes down to it, the best way to rank up quickly in Modern Warfare 2 is to play well in matches. The only surefire way to make sure you’re scoring highly is to stick to the game modes that suit your style of play. If you’re a run-and-gunner, Team Deathmatch or Free-for-All is your best bet. But if you prefer to sneak around and carefully pick off enemies then Search and Destroy is the way to go. Ultimately, if you’re playing a mode you enjoy, chances are you’ll find yourself higher up the leaderboard each game, and the XP will come pouring in. Modern Warfare 2 Ground War XP glitch All of the tip we’ve listed above are solid ways to level up quickly, but as you’d expect, Modern Warfare 2 players have also discovered certain exploits to speed up the process. One of these was discovered by Twitch streamer Move_Mind and allows you to farm XP when playing Ground War. It’s done by equipping the Suppression Mine Field Upgrade, which emits a wave of sound that slows ememies down and obscures their vision. By throwing one of these onto an enemy tank, it is automatically within range of multiple players, awarding you with boatloads of XP for suppressing each one. The hard part is getting the mine onto a tank, but they can be dropped from the top of buildings to help you stay out of the tank’s view. There’s every chance that this exploit will be patched down the line, but for now, it’s a surefire way to rank up quickly. There you have it! Those were the best ways to level up quickly in Modern Warfare 2. As players begin to discover more creative ways of earning XP, we’ll be sure to update this with the latest methods. • How to Prestige in Black Ops Cold War: Rewards, keys & more – Dexerto

How to Prestige in Black Ops Cold War: Rewards, keys & more Treyarch/ActivisionUnlike previous Call of Duty titles, the Prestige system in Black Ops Cold War isn’t just a fresh reset and there’s plenty of unique rewards to collect. For years, Call of Duty games followed the same Prestige system, with players reaching max rank and then resetting their progress for minimal rewards. With Black Ops Cold War, Treyarch attempted to make the process a little more interesting, adding more objectives, challenges, and milestones for the community to complete. Not only that, guns and attachments are no longer reset, meaning there’s no need to spend countless hours grinding for content you’ve previously unlocked. So, with more rewards to earn and Prestige Keys to collect, it’s important you know exactly how Cold War’s Prestige system works. Content How to Prestige in Black Ops Cold War The Prestige mechanic in Cold War is a great way of measuring your progression in the game, and showing others how much time you’ve put into the title. In Cold War, you have to reach level 55 to Prestige, which can be achieved by playing multiplayer matches, picking up kills, and completing objectives. After reaching 55, you’ll continue to progress by going through the Season Ranks which are unlocked every 50 levels, acting as another Prestige milestone. As mentioned, there’s no need to worry about losing the attachments and guns you’ve earned as they won’t be reset, instead, you’ll be given new challenges each season to complete. How to earn Prestige Keys and access the Prestige shop After prestiging or reaching a Season Rank, you’ll earn one Prestige Key, a new sticker, an emblem, and the occasional blueprint. Not only that, the Prestige Keys can be used to unlock exclusive and legacy content in the Prestige Shop. With icons and banners from all the Call of Duty titles from the past, it’s a great way to pick up some nostalgic cosmetics. On top of this, there are even blueprints available to pick up that are regularly updated with each season. So, there you have it, that’s exactly how the Prestige System works in Black Ops Cold War Season 6. Now, you don’t lose any content by progressing, there’s no reason not to Prestige and pick up the exclusive rewards on offer.
