Infinity Ward have been known to shuffle game modes around in both Modern Warfare and Warzone. We have regularly seen multiplayer fans demanding the return of Shipment or Shoothouse, while Warzone players call for Plunder or BR Quads to make a return. The latest adjustment from the CoD developers came on July 2, and saw Juggernaut Royale added to Warzone. As it sounds, this game mode centers on the powerful Modern Warfare killstreak. But how does it work, what are the best ways to play it, and how can you get your hands on the Juggernaut kit? It’s actually fairly similar. Players drop in as normal, and it’s still the last player standing to win the game. However, shortly into Juggernaut Royale matches, a drop ship will spawn and drop a Juggernaut suit into the map. This will be marked on the mini-map for every player, meaning 100% of the lobby know the Juggernaut’s location. Expect carnage when you’re near the suit. It’s akin to the Thanos game mode that featured in rival battle royale Fortnite. When donning the Juggernaut suit, players have substantial health and firepower and can rack up the kills. Once the player in the Juggernaut suit dies, they return to the Gulag as normal. Once the downed Juggernaut player enters the Gulag, another Juggernaut suit drops into the match, once again with its location widely broadcast. This continues until one player dons the suit in late-game scenarios and wins the match (or they’re miraculously stopped at the very end by an opponent). Tips and Tricks for Warzone’s Juggernaut Royale So what are the best ways to play in Warzone’s Juggernaut Royale? Well, it kind of depends on what you’re in for. If you’re just there to have fun, then go straight for the suit and get involved in the carnage. If you manage to get in the suit, you can ultimately expect to be taken down, but you’ll rack up a lot of kills in the meantime. However, if you’re playing to win, you’ll want to bide your time and play cautiously. Stay away from the suit early on, and move in with the storm as the game progresses. Then, when there are fewer players later on, you can make a break for the suit or try and take it down when its health is already low. Getting into the suit in a late-game scenario will all but guarantee victory. Furthermore, if you’re not keen to go for the suit then don’t be afraid to try out different tactics. Launchers, for example, could prove incredibly effective against the Juggernaut suit. Cluster Strikes or Precision Airstrikes could also be useful, particularly given the Juggernaut’s slower movement. Finally, it should go without saying, but don’t challenge a Juggernaut head-on. Regardless of armor, loadout, or skill, you’re more than likely to be annihilated.

How to play Warzone Rebirth Island in third-person ActivisionWhile Warzone has always been first-person ever since it launched in 2020, it is actually possible to play Rebirth Island in third person. Here’s how. Third-person gameplay isn’t completely new to Call of Duty, with some modes in past years being in third-person, but it isn’t the norm and certainly isn’t something Warzone players will be familiar with — but it could be a complete game-changer. Here’s what you’ve got to do, with three very simple steps letting you switch to third-person mode: Launch Loaded Resurgence — this is the only mode that allows you to switch from first-person to third-person. – Press the ‘Start’ button to bring up the menu with Loadouts, Social, etc. – Select ‘Switch to Third Person’. – One of the biggest advantages of playing in third person is that it lets you see way more of your surroundings, especially around corners. Say, for example, you’re crouching behind a wall waiting to ambush your opponent, you can use the camera to your advantage to know their exact location, which you wouldn’t get in first person. If you ever played much Fortnite, you’ll be very familiar with the style of gameplay, especially in a battle royale setting, and might realize that you even enjoy it more than the classic Warzone first-person mode. Should this version of the game get much love, too, we may well see more third-person options in Warzone in the future, though it’s hard to envision developers Raven Software ever making a full switch — or they may well risk the wrath of the player base in the process.

How to play Warzone private matches on Rebirth Island in Season 3 ActivisionWith the Warzone Season 3 update on April 22, a number of changes are being made including a new map, weapon balancing and new guns. Now, you can even play private matches on Rebirth Island too. Rebirth Island was added to Warzone alongside the Black Ops Cold War integration back in November 2020. While it has not been as wildly popular as the regular BR in Verdansk, Rebirth Island and the Resurgence mode definitely have their share of dedicated players. The lower player count and ability to respawn if your squad survives for a certain amount of time make it easier to always stay involved in the action. The far smaller map also means you won’t spend much time running around without seeing an enemy. Now, after introducing private matches for Verdansk back in November 2020, Rebirth Island is getting them too in Warzone Season 3, and it will be far easier to populate with a 40-player count. So if you’re looking to change up your regular games, set up a big custom tournament or simply test out the new feature, you can now do it. Here’s how to set up a custom lobby on Rebirth Island in Warzone Season 3: Scroll down to the ‘Private Match’ option at the bottom of the playlist selection screen. – Select which game mode you would like to play. – If you want to play on Rebirth Island, you will have to pick a mode under the “Battle Royale Alternative” list. – Make sure you have enough players in the lobby to start a match. – Press ‘Start Match’. – Going into Season 3, this is bound to be a popular option for players looking to test their skills against their friends or other skilled players. The multiplayer beta begins for PS4 players first on August 3 at 10am PT, and will run until Monday August 6 at these same times. The following weekend, August 10-13, the beta will be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC – but only if you have pre-ordered the game. On Saturday August 11, all PC players will be able to play the beta without a pre-order. The only guaranteed way for console players to get into the beta is by pre-ordering the game. You can do this at a retailer, or digitally on the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store or Battle.net for PC. If you pre-order at a retailer, you will be given a token to redeem on the Call of Duty website. this will then give you the code for your platform of choice, console/PC. If you pre-ordered digitally via the PlayStation or Xbox One store, you don’t need a code. You will be able to download the beta through the store as soon as it becomes available. You will be able to pre-load the beta onto your console so you can jump right in straight away. Pre-loading should become available at 10am PT (1pm ET, 6pm BST) on Thursday August 2. Also, while your progress from the multiplayer beta will not carry over into the full game, you will receive some neat rewards for playing. You will not need a separate code or token for the Blackout beta however, so if you have access to the muliplayer one, you will also automatically be able to play the Blackout beta too.

How to play new Zombies mode on Call of Duty Mobile Call of Duty Mobile has finally added its long-awaited Zombies mode, however, it can be a little difficult to find. So, here’s how you can play against hordes of the undead. The mobile version of Call of Duty took the different mobile app stores by storm after it’s release on October 1. Over 100 million people had downloaded it and jumped into at least one game within the first week and now the developers are rolling out new content. Multiplayer has been given a new map in the form of Black Ops 1 classic Summit, while the battle royale has also got a new location and weapon. Yet, the most interesting addition comes in the form of Zombies, though it might just be a little tricky to find if you haven’t got much time into CoD Mobile yet. However, you’ll want to be quick as the mode isn’t sticking around forever. To be able to jump into the limited-time mode, which will send you back to Call of Duty: World at War’s Shi No Numa map, you’ll have to have reached a certain in-game level. It’s not a grind, though, as you just have to be level five to play the Zombies mode. For anyone who is level five and hasn’t played Call of Duty: Mobile since the update, you won’t have to re-level or anything. Simply just back in and you’ll be able to play the new map, as well as the two Zombies modes. The modes you can play including the classic endless survival mode, as well as ‘Raid Mode’ which is limited in rounds and also includes a boss fight. Anyone who plays Raid Mode on normal difficulty will still have to fight off waves of the undead horde, yet, it is limited to eight rounds before the Abomination boss fight. On Hardcore difficulty, the round limit is increased to twelve. How long the Zombies mode will be sticking around for is, as of now, unknown so you’ll want to be quick in making sure you’re at least level five so you can a game or two. The mode could very well stick around for a little bit longer than planned – especially if it’s popular – but we’ll have to wait and see what Activision chooses to do.

What is CoD: Mobile’s rockets-only mode? Rockets-only is a 5v5 where each player can only use the SMRS rocket launcher. Don’t worry if you haven’t unlocked it yet though, as everyone has access to it in this game mode. The mode itself acts a lot like Team Deathmatch, with the first team to score 30 points by finding 30 kills declared the winner. You can also earn battle crates and credits thanks to new rocket-only challenges. How to play rockets-only on CoD: Mobile Playing the rockets-only mode is very simple, all you need to do is enter the multiplayer menu of Call of Duty: Mobile, click on matches, and then enter the featured section where you can select rockets-only as one of three modes. However, the game mode is only available for a limited time and will close on November 7, so you’ll need to be quick if you want to try it out! Two other game modes are also currently featured in the game, a Halloween themed Standoff map and the fan-favorite Gun Game, both of which are temporary events. Activision have not announced any other game modes at the moment, but if October is anything to go by, there will undoubtedly be many more exciting features and events coming soon.

Modern Warfare 2 is often regarded as one of the greatest Call of Duty games of all time, with many players holding it in the top spot ahead of the likes of Black Ops 2 and Call of Duty 4. For years, fans have called for a remaster, but the only one that ever arrived was a remastered campaign in 2020, much to players’ dismay. Now, fans have had to take it into their own hands with the H2M mod, and it’s very easy to get access to. Here’s how you can get involved: Buy Modern Warfare Remastered on Steam if you don’t already own it. – Head over to the H2M website. – Download the H2M installer when it becomes available on its release date of Friday, August 16. – The game is bringing back all of the original MW2 maps — much like 2023’s MW3 — on top of the Modern Warfare Remastered maps, as well as the classic Modern Warfare 2 weapons, perks, attachments, killstreaks, and even the prestige emblems. Thanks to the mod, Modern Warfare Remastered has quickly flown up the Steam charts, becoming the second best-selling game on the platform at the time of writing, behind just Counter-Strike 2. Modern Warfare & Warzone Season 5 is finally out and fans have been diving into all the new changes and additions. That being said, if you’re a free Warzone player, you only have half as much content to experience as people who own the full game. Free multiplayer weekends for the game are nothing new at this point. Infinity Ward likes to allow free Warzone players a chance to dive into the game’s premium multiplayer on a semi-regular basis, with the developer holding these free weekends every couple of months. When is the Modern Warfare Season 5 free multiplayer weekend? Available maps and modes According to Infinity Ward, the free multiplayer weekend will include five multiplayer maps: Suldal Harbor, Petrov Oil Rig, Shoot House, Shipment, and Cheshire Park, the first two of which debuted at the start of Season 5. In addition, players will be able to play Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination, and Hardpoint. These are the standard game modes that appear in “moshpit” playlists, so their inclusion here is no surprise. Finally, Infinity Ward are also activating the “Triple Feed” promo, which means that Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass Tier Progression, which will be live from August 7-10, a bit shorter than the free MP access period. Call of Duty: Warzone is Infinity Ward’s stab at a battle royale that will be available for free on March 10. However, the large-scale, slow-paced action of a battle royale isn’t for everyone. Fear not, as Modern Warfare’s developers have got you covered with their subsidiary mode, Plunder — a mode designed to offer a more casual experience than a traditional battle royale game. What is Plunder in Call of Duty: Warzone? In Plunder, you and your team will have to work together to scavenge as much cash as possible, in the quickest time. Much like the battle royale mode, you will hop into the thick of the action and have to loot their surroundings to gather as much cash as possible with your own custom loadout. The objective is simple: accrue more cash than the opposing teams. Plunder will utilize the same currency system as in Warzone’s BR variation, but the amount of cash that you can find will be dramatically increased in comparison. How does Plunder work? Plunder is capped at 30 minutes, meaning that players will have to scout out as much cash as possible while still dealing with enemy threats. The first team to reach $1 million in cash triggers an overtime mode, where players have a three-minute window to secure the most cash possible while the cash you find is doubled. The team with the most cash when the time ends wins the match. But what happens if you die in Plunder? You can redeploy on the map after a 15-second cooldown period. One caveat is that there’s no Gulag in this mode, so respawns don’t have to be earned per se. If you die with a stack of cash, you will drop a certain percentage of that, so it’s especially important to work as a team and deposit your gold before you get caught. How to deposit cash in Plunder 1. Helicopter Pads There are a number of designated Helicopter Pads dotted around the map where players will be able to deposit their cash. Essentially, you will be able to run up to one of the designated spots and call for a Chopper to come and collect your gold. The aircraft will take as much cash as you load onto it, but there is the inherent risk that comes with a big Chopper swooping into the map as it gives away your position and there is next to no cover around the deposit point. So do so at your own risk! 2. Deposit Balloons Deposit Balloons offer a slightly more discrete method of depositing cash and are located at certain Buy Stations around the map. Balloons come with two main drawbacks, however, since you have to use a certain portion of money to buy one and they will only hold up to $150,000. So if you’re nearing that $1 million mark, you’ll have to decide whether to go for the risky play or adopt a more conservative approach. One important tidbit of information to note is that if no one reaches $1 million in cash by the time the clock winds down, the team with the most money wins the match. So what will your squad’s approach be? Go out all guns blazing, or patiently wait near a Helicopter Pad and pray for that big pay off?

With the popularity of Black Ops 4’s Blackout, fans have been eagerly awaiting a Modern Warfare edition since the game launched in October 2019, but Infinity Ward had been unwilling to confirm that such a mode was even in the works. It looks like Warzone might be worth the wait, however, as it’s shaping up to be an even more ambitious take on battle royale than Blackout. The new mode will offer an enormous map hosting 150 players per game, with rumors suggesting that number may even be increased to 200 in the future, and the whole map has been uniquely designed – every building is different. There’s more good news for battle royale fans though – you’ll be able to play Warzone for free, regardless of whether you own Modern Warfare or not. How to play Warzone for free Anyone who already owns Modern Warfare will of course be able to jump into Warzone immediately, with the battle royale being added as a mode that can be reached from the main Modern Warfare menu. If you don’t have Modern Warfare, however, you’ll still be able to play Warzone without needing to buy the main game. The BR will be available as a stand-alone game completely for free, which can be downloaded as a separate client. For those who try out Warzone for free and want to unlock the full Modern Warfare game, it will be possible to upgrade directly from the Warzone client. The game is playable cross-platform, meaning you’ll be able to play with friends whether they’re on Xbox One, PS4 or PC. There are currently three playlists – solos, duos, and trios. How to download the Modern Warfare Gunfight alpha The 2v2 Gunfight beta has only been confirmed to run on PlayStation 4, so it appears as if Xbox One and PC players are out of luck. As a result of the BR’s faster elimination times, some players are struggling to fight their way into top 10 placings consistently. However, as the best players prove, there is a way of consistently placing well, even when you come up against high skill players. These suggestions probably won’t do a lot for players looking for high kill games, but if you’re struggling to stay alive then this is the guide for you. Here are our top tips and tricks to give you the best chance of placing top 10, and still being alive when the game’s end comes around. Best landing spots to stay alive in CoD: Warzone If you’re looking to stay alive in early game, you’re best dropping in places away from the centre of the map, but also away from the plane’s route. You don’t necessarily have to cross the entire map, but avoiding busy areas like Stadium, Superstore and Downtown will help you survive the chaotic period when everyone is looting up. Storage Town and Airport are very good for loot, but you may find that there’s a few too many enemy teams to contest with. Areas like Prison, Lumber and Farmland are also good for loot, and provide a multitude of areas to traverse and escape enemies. In the example given above, there is even more reason to avoid central areas, given the fact the plane goes over the middle of the map. For this route, Farmland, Port, Storage Town, Dam or Military Base seem the most sensible options if you’re trying to stay alive off the bat. Pick your gunfights sensibly Realistically, if you’re struggling to stay alive into the top 10, you’re not going to be chasing enemies and trying to maximize your kill count. This brings us onto our next tip – to pick your gunfights intelligently and be pragmatic about them. If you’re on top of a building and see an enemy moving across open ground, then have at it. Realistically you can always back out of the fight if the tables turn against you. If you’re in open ground on your own and you open fire on a team of three, then you’ve only got yourself to blame. The image above shows a good place to start a gunfight with an enemy. The image below, assuming an enemy is on the building’s roof, shows you exactly the kind of gunfight to avoid, where you have minimal cover and the burden of being lower than your opponent. Complete all the Recon challenges you can Our next tip is fairly simple, complete the game’s Recon challenges. These appear on the map as little flags, and offer an insight into where the next circle will be. Not only that, but they give players a small financial reward and some loot as a reward. Just know that completing them sends a flare up, so you might have to keep your wits about you as you’re securing the location. The reward certainly outweighs the risk though. In a game like Warzone, where pushing through open ground into a pre-aiming enemy is essentially suicide, getting set up in the final zone is a sure fire to ensure your survival. The more Recon challenges you complete, the more zones you can see. Use Buy Stations to strengthen your hand Buy Stations are seriously useful in almost any in-game scenario. Things like a Gas Mask can quite simply decide an end-game situation, while a UAV can help you get there in the first place. While some players can run the Ghost perk to hide themselves from UAVs, they will give you a rough idea of the location of the enemies nearest to you. From there, you can avoid them and stay alive, or catch them unawares and get the kill. New additions like the Armor Boxes are incredible powerful, and keep you ahead of enemies in squad modes. They will allow you to always be at maximum health going into a new engagement, meaning you have the best chance of coming out alive. An Armor Plate Bundle costs just $1500, but could save your life in any scenario. Make sure you use buy stations to stock up on armor and keep yourself in the know about enemy locations. Avoid Vehicles as best you can If you’re just trying to stay alive and give yourself a shot of winning, your best bet is probably to avoid vehicles altogether, unless they’re your only way to avoid dying to the zone. When you use a vehicle, you appear as a red marker on every nearby enemy’s mini-map. This is the opposite of what you want to do if you’re trying to stay alive. If you have to use a vehicle, try and throw a trophy system on to it to stop projectiles being able to blow your car up. Here’s how you can master the art of drag scoping on controller. When it comes to winning games of Warzone, everyone has different tactics. Some players are all about attack and racking kills, while others prefer to post up and let the action unfold around them, strictly focused on the win. However, there is one constant in every match – sniping. Verdansk is so vast, a long-range damage dealer is pretty much needed to win. Though, not everyone can end up with a montage of mind-blowing eliminations of quick scopes and collaterals. Yet, there’s where YouTuber IceManIsaac comes into things, as he’d showed off a few tips about ‘drag scoping’ that could help you in Warzone. How to master drag scoping in Warzone The Call of Duty content creator noted that the way aim assist works in Warzone differently to how many players think it does. You don’t snap on to other players with a controller, but instead, your aim slows when a target is in sight. This is perfect for Warzone because with ‘drag scoping’ you can take down players who are on the run. All you really have to do is train yourself up and tweak your settings. Instead of hard scoping and posting up, IceManIsaac pointed out that if you draw a line across an enemy with your scope and then shoot when you feel the aim assist slow, or “drag”, you are likely to hit them. Getting the time right is obviously key, as the YouTuber adds, you will need to reduce the ‘dead zone’ in your settings. This will give you more control over the thumbsticks but the perfect number is based on your feel. This will let you make finer, micro-adjustments to your aim. Obviously, a sniper that is set up for maneuverability and has a quick-moving scope will work better than something heavy, but the timing is the biggest key of all. You don’t have to start getting wild and zooming past a player, just perfect when the aim assist slows and you’ll be on your way.

How to open Warzone’s vaults ActivisionFollowing the May 18 update, Call of Duty: Warzone players can now open the doors of the mysterious vaults and capture a huge load of surprises that are inside. Here’s what you need to get those doors open. Ever since Call of Duty: Warzone launched back in March, players have been finding secrets hidden around Verdansk. We’ve seen strange wolf howls near Dam and even teasers about a new map, though nothing has quite captured the imagination like the handful of vault doors. These doors were found across the map and players immediately went to work on trying to figure out how to open them. Did you need a killstreak? Was there a keycode for the scanners that sat outside? Well, it turns out, the answer is actually much easier than those and you can walk right on in following the May 18 patch. How to get inside a vault in Warzone One of the first players to get inside was FaZe Dirty, who noted that if you manage to find one of the incredibly rare red key cards around the map, you can get access to a vault. You simply have to take the key card to the door, interact with the small panel next to the door, and then wait for the vault to open up. Though, the rewards aren’t immediately waiting for you on the other side. You’ll have to run down a hallway of sorts to get to those. Though, make your choice wisely because you won’t be able to go and open a number of different vaults with one keycard swipe.

Here’s everything you need to open the Nakatomi Plaza vault. Warzone’s Season 3 Reloaded update features plenty of new content for players to dive into. Headlining the new update is none other than Rambo and John Mclane, who can be both unlocked through the 80s Action Heroes bundle. Verdansk has also undergone a few changes, with the addition of new POIs themed after the Rambo and Die Hard films. Aside from the numerous Rambo POW camps that have been hidden throughout the map, there’s also the addition of the iconic Nakatomi Plaza. The massive skyscraper stands 490 feet tall and has replaced the game’s Broadcast Tower, giving Die Hard fans a thrilling place to duke it out when they drop into Downtown. However, Nakatomi Plaza also hides a hidden vault that can net you huge amounts of money if you get all three Vault Keycards. Nakatomi Plaza side missions in Warzone Season 3 In order to open the Nakatomi Plaza vault, you’ll first need to complete three side missions. The Nakatomi side missions are as follow: Unfinished Business: open three crates. – Hostile Fire: Find and disarm all C4 locations. – Deal Gone Wrong: Eliminate waves of enemies. – How to complete Warzone Unfinished Business: Vault Keycard 1 The Unfinished Business side mission can be started by picking up one of the three contracts that are littered around Nakatomi Plaza. Once you’ve successfully started the contract, you need to open three crates. This may seem relatively easy at first, but a lot of players will also be aiming to complete this contract as well. The three crates are located inside Nakatomi Plaza and upon reaching the third crate, you’ll be rewarded with Vault Keycard 1. How to complete Warzone Hostile Fire: Vault Keycard 2 In a homage to Hans Gruber’s dastardly attempt to blow up Nakatomi Plaza, players must find and disarm four C4 explosives. These devices can be found on Nakatomi Plaza’s rooftop, so simply take one of the zip wires to the top of the building and begin disarming them. How does the Modern Warfare 2 Battle Pass work Fans of battle royale games will be familiar with how Battle Passes work. Usually, players progress from left to right, earning new items along the way. However, in Modern Warfare 2, your Battle Pass is a multi-sector map. The days of reaching the highest level of a Battle Pass to earn an item you were looking forward to most are over. MW2 allows you to dictate your own path toward completing everything. Players unlock Battle token Tier Skips and can use them as they please. In Warzone 2 Season 1, each map has at least 20 sectors, with five items in each sector. Activision stated in its latest blog, “tokens can be used to either unlock adjacent Sectors or earn more items within an unlocked Sector.” For example, if there is a specific Operator Skin or weapon you want to unlock first, you can use a token on it first before unlocking other items. Just as with every other battle royale title, the gas plays a huge role in Warzone, and it can often prove to be game-changing during the final stages of matches, depending on which side of the circle line you’re on. Being inside the safe zone ahead of time offers a huge advantage, mainly because you can pick off any enemy teams and players who are trying to find their way into the circle with the gas pushing at them menacingly. However, there’s a lowkey method within this BR that lets you know where the gas is going to be at the different stages of a match, including the final one before the safe zone disappears completely. The trick is to complete Recon contracts, which are one of three types of missions available in-game (the other two being Bounty and Scavenger). When activated, they require you to secure a certain point on the map, much like how Domination or Hardpoint work in Multiplayer. Then, if you manage to complete additional missions of the same kind, the circle after that will also be shown, and the one after that, until it’s so small that there are no more subsequent safe zones. Also, the game offers a bonus to teams who complete more than one contract, which means if you do several back-to-back, you will earn a lot more money too. So, what’s the catch? While this may all seem too good to be true, there are some drawbacks to these Recon contracts. For one, they’re not all that easy to complete, mainly because the capture almost always end up being in wide-open areas. We have compiled a series of tips in order to help you be more effective against the Juggernaut in your games. Know your enemy Probably the most important fact to understand about the Juggernaut is that their health does not regenerate (except for when they kill enemies). This means that any damage that you or anyone inflicts on the target will be mostly permanent, giving you the opportunity to fall back and replenish health and armor without having your progress wiped out. Keep your distance Juggernauts are very slow beasts, in fact, they only have around 66-70% of the mobility of a normal player equipped with an SMG. This means that if the gunfight starts taking the wrong turn you will always have the option of safely running away without the fear of being chased — as long as they’re not near a vehicle. This also comes useful when engaging against a Juggernaut that made the mistake of being caught on an open field, making them vulnerable from fire for a longer period of time compared to a normal player. Additionally, while their gun is mind-blowingly powerful at short distances, it starts becoming significantly less effective past the 50-meter mark. Prepare your loadout There are some specific items that will make a big impact when fighting the Juggernaut. Call of Duty Youtuber TheXclusiveAce shows that equipping your weapons with the FMJ perk will increase the damage inflicted by your bullets against a Juggernaut by “about 50 percent” percent, significantly decreasing the amount of ammo required. Krampus is a literal bullet sponge, so the large magazines and damage output from LMGs are perfect for the task. Firepower will only get you part of the way to downing the demon though, you’ll also need a bit of strategy as well. Luckily, it won’t be too hard to do on Caldera. All you need to make sure of when taking on Krampus is that there’s enough open space to not get cornered, and keep track of his movements. So basically, make sure to only take him on outside, use trees as cover, and you’ll have no problem getting the rewards he drops. Warzone and Vanguard have a plethora of different customization settings to help improve your aim and other aspects of your gameplay. But a subtle feature like weapon inspect will add a bit more to the game for players. Inspecting your weapon in CoD Warzone Warzone’s weapon inspect feature is very simple and requires very little work. You’ll first need to decide on what button press will trigger it, whether you keep it as the default one, or change it to your liking. Similarly, controller players can hold down the Left D-Pad arrow with their guns out. These buttons can be rebound to a more convenient location if you want, making it easier to check out your firearm whilst in the game. When you do press the button, your character will stop whatever they’re doing and showcase their gun right in the middle of your screen. It’s worth noting that you can still be shot while inspecting your weapon, so it’s best to not get too carried away looking at your shiny toys. Similarly, you can’t inspect your weapon while tactical sprinting or with any other object equipped in your hands. To stop inspecting your weapons, you can press any action button like shooting, aiming, or sprinting. That said, it’s worth knowing that moving forward slowly, or walking will not stop the weapon inspect animation. All weapons in Black Ops 6 have a default weapon inspection, but certain blueprints will have special ones exclusive to that skin. When you pick up a blueprint from the store, you can preview the inspect animation if there is one included in the bundle.

While the Stadium is now fully opened up in Warzone, with players dropping in there at a rate of knots, and multiplayer is seeing a lot of traction on new 6v6 maps Suldal Harbor and Petrov Oil Rig, but one fun new feature is amassing lots of interest. As well as being able to view your decked-out weapon, you can use it to grab good-looking screenshots or style on the enemies you’ve knocked or killed in battle. To inspect whichever weapon you’re carrying on console, all you have to do is hold down Left on the D-Pad for around 2 seconds, and it will tilt the gun up and turn it from left to right, allowing you to get a full view of everything on it. On PC, the process is exactly the same except you must hold down the I key for about 2 seconds. Obviously, timing is everything, so make sure you don’t do this in the heat of the moment and find yourself eliminated as a result — there’s nothing worse than acting cocky and a sweet dose of karma hitting you straight in the head. With this new addition, it would be interesting to see if, at some point, you’ll be able to start applying your Battle Pass cosmetics such as charms and stickers to the other side of the gun as, right now, it just looks like an empty space, especially if you have no camo on the weapon itself.

However, thanks to methrik’s post in the Warzone subreddit, players now have a savvy way of having the best of both worlds. How to use Ghost & Overkill at the same time The first step is to scurry around Verdansk and accrue $6,000 for that all-important custom loadout drop, or find one that drops nearby. First of all, you’ll want to purchase a loadout with Overkill (make sure you select an all-round class here). After locking in both of your weapons of choice, you then need to get another loadout drop (either a lucky free one or by coughing up another $6,000) and pick your ghost class. You’ll see the weapons from your Overkill loadout drop to the ground, so simply pick them up and carry on with Ghost now equipped. Since your perks do not stack, your perk set will be overridden by the Ghost loadout (so make sure P1 and P3 are spot on). So yes, you’ll have been set back a whopping $12,000 unless you stumble across a random loadout drop, but you’ll be next to unstoppable in the endgame circle. One of the many aspects of Warzone that has made it so popular is its incorporation of Modern Warfare’s Gunsmith system, allowing extensive class customization depending on your preferences and play-style. However, with such freedom comes a lot of difficult decisions, especially with perks and other options. But what are the best ways to split up your ten classes, with perks, weapons and equipment? Here, we break down some basic tips for forming basic classes, allowing you to prepare for any eventuality. Ghost and Overkill in Warzone Our first tip is to have 3/4 classes with the Ghost perk equipped, and another 3/4 with Overkill equipped. We’d recommend mixing up your weapon choices, to allow variety and choice when calling in a Loadout Drop. When it comes to your Ghost classes, don’t pick a sniper. If you only have one primary and it’s a sniper, you’ll get killed at most ranges. With Overkill classes though, vary your combinations. Get an SMG and AR class, an AR and sniper class, and a couple of others. This way, you can pick your class depending on the game you’re in. If your later circles are in smaller, tight POI like Storage Town, go for the SMG and AR mix. If it’s in an open area with long lines of sight, pick the AR and sniper mix. Fully Loaded? You’ll also want a couple of classes with Fully Loaded on. If you’re spawning back in and have access to a Loadout Drop, there’s nothing worse than picking up a seriously strong weapon and not having any bullets to go with it. Add it to one or two of your loadouts and you’ll be sorted for ammo when you drop back in. Bear in mind that it’s a weapon perk though, so it’s found in the weapon customization area of your classes. The close-quarters map is chaotic from start to finish as players jump right into the action without having to track enemies down. It’s now in its eighth version, though the new iteration has come with a painful exploit. If you’ve played on an older version of the map before, you’ll likely know every little nook and cranny. Nuketown ‘84 still has one of these little secrets intact as RC-XD users can race around outside the map on a special path. Typically, this is a good way to get your explosive buddy across to the other side of the map. It can travel safely and emerge without alerting nearby enemies. However, it turns out players can now access this space as well. This area has only ever been accessible for the tiny vehicle, until now. Players have discovered a way to break through the traditional boundaries and camp outside of the map for some of the easiest kills you’ll ever see. From this glitched location, you get a clear line of sight to the side of one of the houses. The most broken part of being here though is that your presence doesn’t have any impact on enemy spawns. They can still appear directly in front of you without realizing, leading to some effortless kills. Dexerto staff personally encountered this issue while playing on PC. There appears to be a location right at the edge of the playable space that avoids the ‘out of bounds’ instakill effect. Wedging yourself between some cacti and the fence will keep you alive outside of the map. Obviously, this can be shut down after a few kills once players realize your position. However, it could be too little too late. Treyarch is yet to address this particular issue. However, something so critical is sure to be fixed in the very near future. In the meantime, make sure you’re keeping an eye out for pesky enemies well outside the map.

So, technically, you can join the party late and take out any enemies and the final zombie and claim your prize. Lives cost $1,500 and can only be bought on buy rounds, which happen occasionally. During these, it is best to buy an extra life or if you don’t have enough, you can purchase more armor plates to survive a bit longer. Once you are loaded up, it comes down to gun skill and taking smart fights. Don’t challenge if you are at a height disadvantage or low on armor as it will be an easy kill for the enemy. Here’s what you need to know. Over the last few years, Warzone has had a fair few limited-time modes added to the battle royale mix, especially when it comes to a crossover event. No one is forgetting the Godzilla and Kong or Die Hard events anytime soon, for example. Recently, as April 20th – or 4/20 – has been approaching, Call of Duty has been gearing up to celebrate that as the Season 3 update has brought about a new Snoop Dogg skin, Cheech and Chong skins and tracers, and a new mode – High Trip Resurgence. While the new skins and bundles are, of course, available through the in-game store, the new mode does bring about a free reward for those players who don’t want or choose to put their hand in their pocket and spend cash. The skin – the That’s a Lot of Molecules camo – is a funky green, red, purple, and blue number that can be seen on different weapons in the LTM. How to unlock That’s a Lot of Molecules High Trip skin in Warzone If you want to own it for good, you’re going to need to win a game of High Trip Resurgence yourself. That’s all you need to do, just claim victory and the skin will be added to your collection. That win will need to come by the time the High Trip Resurgence mode goes away on April 23, 2024, though. The second season of Warzone is scheduled to kick off on February 24, and players have already started dipping into the game’s new content. In the BR’s Plunder mode, players began to discover a brand-new pistol called the Sykov, and quickly realized how powerful the gun can be. While first seen randomly in Plunder, Call of Duty YouTuber JGOD discovered that players can actually unlock the weapon themselves, with a bit of time and effort. Here’s how you can get your hands on the Sykov pistol before it arrives in Warzone Season 2. How to unlock the Sykov pistol in Warzone While the method for unlocking the pistol has not been officially confirmed by Activision or any of the CoD developers, JGOD nevertheless was able to share how he obtained the weapon. Here are the steps you should follow in order to acquire the new Warzone pistol: Complete the required challenge (finish 5 different matches with 4 pistol kills) to unlock the Sykov – Log in to the Warzone menu and look for a blinking green square in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, below your player name/season rank: if you see it, that means the weapon should be unlocked Note: If you don’t see this green square in your menu, this means you have not unlocked the weapon yet – – If the weapon has not been unlocked, switch to the co-op menu in Modern Warfare and start a Private Match with Survival as the game type – In the Survival match, access the weapon buy station and scroll to the bottom of the pistols category to see your progress for the challenge Note: This process applies to the other unreleased Season 2 weapons (an SMG and LMG), and you can check those challenges out as well – – After the challenge has been completed, the Sykov will be unlocked and available for testing (and you will now see the green blinking square in the main Warzone menu if you didn’t before) – While JGOD did explain how to unlock the pistol, he also warned players against spending too much time leveling up the weapon. On top of that, MW3 also brings back reload and slide canceling. However, slide canceling no longer resets a tactical sprint, which greatly slows the movement mechanic down. And if that wasn’t enough, there is also a delay between the slide cancel and when a player can tactical sprint again. Community members slammed the design choice, prompting Sledgehammer Games to respond by decreasing the delay during the beta and doubling down on November 17. Even after both changes, there is still a slight delay. But there is a way to infinitely tac-sprint that bypasses slide canceling entirely. Infinity Ward have been in a seemingly endless battle against glitches since Modern Warfare’s release in October 2019. While most bugs can be overlooked, the notorious ‘slide-cancel’ mechanic had professional players in uproar. The movement exploit was quickly patched, just before the Launch Weekend for the inaugural Call of Duty League season. However, another movement exploit has since been uncovered which allows players to utilize their Tactical Sprint for as long as they want. The Tactical Sprint feature debuted in Modern Warfare and was designed with the game’s large-scale maps in mind, by facilitating a faster way to traverse from one area to another. However, players can utilize the new sprint feature to get out of tight situations, as it expires after a few seconds. Now, Twitter user ‘CanadianFishh’ has detailed exactly how to ensure that never happens. First and foremost, you will need to holster your Primary Weapon and whip out a Combat Knife as your Secondary. Start Tactical Sprinting with your knife by double-tapping your sprint button. Before the Tac Sprint runs out, you need to slide and switch weapons to your Primary. https://twitter.com/CanadianFishh/status/1230990756728295424 After switching to your Primary, you need to rinse and repeat the Tactical Sprint process by double-tapping your sprint button again. Essentially, the slide animation resets the Tactical Sprint each time. So as long as you’re sliding every 3-5 seconds, you should be able to do this for an unlimited amount of time. Beware, though as it takes longer to ADS with your weapon following Tactical Sprinting, so it’s not ideal for close-quarters maps. However, if you’re simply looking to get from Point A to Point B on Ground War as fast as possible, then utilizing this exploit might be the way to go. While Infinity Ward have not commented on the strategy yet, it seems possible they will release a patch for it in the coming weeks or months.

When Verdansk ’84 was added during the Season 3 update, which changed up the map quite significantly, the SKN Building became even more popular. The top was completely altered, adding two main floors alongside the roof, allowing for even more places to hide. In order to do this trick, you’ll have to take the elevator to the top and then go to the southwest side of the building. From there, you can jump up onto a couple ledges and you’ll be on the top floor. Most players tend to camp either the stairwell or the outer zipline so this avoids both of those areas. Best way to perform finishing moves in Black Ops Cold War We would recommend utilizing a loadout that lets you stay stealthy while also forcing these situations into play. For example, carrying Stun Grenades and playing corners around the map, especially towards where your opponents are spawning, will be the most efficient way of doing this. It might not be pretty, but you might have to play a little bit campy to pull this one off. Simply pick your room and wait for enemies to run past you, then you can sneak up behind them — preferably with the Ninja perk for near-silent footsteps — and hold the melee button with your Combat Knife out to perform the move. If they turn and see you, throw a Stun Grenade at them to slow them down and take advantage of their vulnerability.
