How to get free Juggernog in Cold War Zombies Firebase Z – Dexerto
How to get free Juggernog in Cold War Zombies Firebase Z ActivisionJuggernog has been a staple in Black Ops Zombies and it’s still important in Black Ops Cold War. While it’s available to buy like usual, players can also get a free one in Firebase Z simply by completing some short and easy to follow steps. Back in November, players discovered that the first Black Ops Cold War Zombies map, Die Maschine, included an easter egg that, when completed, would grant you a number of free items, including a free Juggernog Perk every time you completed it. Suffice to say, it has become a staple for most players thanks to the fact that Juggernog is so important. Now, players have discovered that a similar easter egg is possible in the new map Firebase Z, albeit with some very different steps in order to complete it. How to get free Juggernog and weapons On the previous map, players had to shoot at a number of different orbs located around a room in order to complete the mini-easter egg. That’s not the case on Firebase Z. That being said, the steps to complete this egg are just about tough as the previous iteration, so you won’t have to do anything too crazy in order to unlock it. Here’s what you need to do: Activate all 3 Aether Reactors and turn on the power – Teleport back to the main starting area and go into the room with the Pack-A-Punch – If you look to your right as you’re facing the Pack-A-Punch, you’ll see some stairs. Go up to them and turn to the left – After you walk past the Zombie entrance, but before you enter the other room, you should see a small, blocked-off hallway – Face the hallway and ADS at the bunny located at the end of the hallway but don’t shoot it – Stay staring at it until the bunny floats up, rushes towards you, and teleports you to a new location (if the bunny head moves slightly a few seconds before it rushes towards you, you’re doing it correctly) – After being teleported, you should see a glowing pink bunny; run toward it and shoot it – Repeat the aforementioned process two more times – Run toward the glowing yellow loot crate and open it – Quickly grab your free Juggernog from the ground, as well as any other items you want to keep before it teleports you back – Enjoy your free Juggernog – And that’s it! After that, you should have Juggernog active until you go down or end the game. Unfortunately, like the egg that came before it, you can only complete this once, so if you lose it, you’ll have to buy it. That being said, the fact that you can get out of having to spend 2,500 points is great, as you can then use those points towards Pack-A-Punch, the Mystery Box, or something else entirely.

How to get free Black Ops Cold War & Warzone pre Season 1 bundles – Dexerto
How to get free Black Ops Cold War & Warzone pre Season 1 bundles ActivisionActivision and Treyarch have started giving players two free bundles ahead of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 1 – here’s everything you need to know about what they include and how to get them While Season 1 of Black Ops Cold War, which was set to bring brand new maps and integrate the game with Warzone, has been delayed to December 16, players don’t have to wait until then to get their hands on some new, albeit small, content. Activision and Treyarch have made free two content packs available, the Field Research bundle and the Certified bundle, presumably in order to help tide people over until Season 1. Here’s how you can get your hands on both content drops before the new season starts. Field Research and Certified Bundles Both bundles include a number of different items to use in-game: five in the Field Research bundle and four in the Certified bundle. While these packs are specifically for Black Ops Cold War players, it’s important to remember that some of these items, like the blueprints and Operators, are available for use in Warzone as well. Field Research Bundle Epic Park “Scorch” Operator skin – Epic Milano “Excavator” blueprint – Epic reticle – Epic Calling Card – Rare “Collectible Tin” Weapon Charm – – Certified Bundle Epic Garcia “Barrio” Operator skin – Rare FFAR “Ground Control” blueprint – Epic reticle – Epic “Can of Concealment” Weapon Charm – – All in all, this is a pretty good deal, especially considering the Milano is one of the better SMGs right now. While the FFAR is nowhere near as good as it once was, it’s still an assault rifle with a high rate of fire, which makes it formidable against other players even after its nerf. How to get both bundles for free Luckily, players won’t have to do much of anything to get their hands on these bundles. According to Activision, both will be awarded to players who log-in to the game between December 8 at 10AM PST (1PM EST, 6PM GMT) and December 15 at 11PM PST (2AM EST, 7AM GMT on December 16). To be clear, logging in simply means that you just have to open the game and clicking on the “multiplayer” option; playing a match isn’t required. Once you do log-in, the bundles should be in your account and you’re given the option to redeem everything before you even get a chance to go to the multiplayer menu. Black Ops Cold War & Warzone Season 1 is scheduled to launch on December 16 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

How to get a free Black Ops Cold War Doritos weapon charm – Dexerto
How to get a free Black Ops Cold War Doritos weapon charm Activision/Twitter, @doritosIn what appears to be a continuation of the long-standing partnership between Call of Duty and Mountain Dew/Doritos, Black Ops Cold War players can now get their hands on a Doritos weapon charm in-game (and a Mountain Dew emblem). To do so, however, you’ll have to go through a few steps. [jwplayer MSpVmKRG] Doritos, Mountain Dew, and Call of Duty have been synonymous with each other for years now, to the point where it’s become a meme among fans. While the partnership has allowed players to get double XP for a while now, last year, the companies took it a step further and added a free Doritos-themed watch for your character to use in Modern Warfare and Warzone. Now, the partnership is continuing and, this time, players can get their hands on a Doritos-themed weapon charm, as well as a free Mountain Dew emblem. Like last year, however, there’s a couple steps players have to go through in order to do it. Here’s everything you need to know. Free Doritos weapon charm and Dew emblem While the emblem is just a mushroom cloud colored in the same neon green as Mountain Dew, the weapon charm is pretty hilarious, as it’s literally a Nacho Cheese Dorito hanging off the side of your weapon. It’s important to note that the image released by Mountain Dew says that it’s not a real in-game image, so it may be the case that the final product looks different than the one seen. All in all, however, this is a pretty hilarious gift and even though it doesn’t affect gameplay in any regard, it’s easy to picture fans rocking this charm for the foreseeable future, just based on how ridiculous it is. How do I earn the free weapon charm and emblem? https://twitter.com/MountainDew/status/1329847042080976897?s=20 Luckily, the instructions for this one are relatively easy. Players don’t have to do anything in-game to earn it but they will end up needing a Twitter account in order to get it. Follow Mountain Dew on Twitter. – Reply to this tweet, or simply @MountainDew, with #DoritosDewDrop. – Once Mountain Dew sends you your code, redeem your code using the instructions messaged to you. – The item should appear the next time you boot up Black Ops Cold War. – The worst part about the whole process is waiting for your chance to redeem. After you tweet the correct hashtag, it will take a while before you end up getting your code, as it’s not automatic. Still, at the end of the day, it’s worth it to have a literal Doritos chip hanging off the side of your weapon.

While anticipation heats up for MWIII, Modern Warfare 2 is still the mainline game and one of the new weapons coming is the FR Avancer assault rifle. Here’s how to get it. Season 5 is predicted to be either the final or penultimate season of the Modern Warfare 2 lifecycle, and will even play host to a Call of Duty 2023 reveal event, as the devs show off their latest work and what players should expect in the upcoming title. That doesn’t mean the update will be lacking in content, though, with not only a bunch of new weapons arriving but new maps — such as Strike from Call of Duty 4 —, modes, and more. With the Warzone meta ever-shifting, the FR Avancer could come in as one of the best guns in the game, with players hoping for something to challenge the likes of the Cronen Squall. But how do you even get it? Unlock FR Avancer in Warzone & MW2 Unlocking the FR Avancer in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 is going to be pretty simple — all you’ll have to do is reach Sector E8 of the Battle Pass. The FR Avancer is described as follows: “With a blinding fire rate and exceptional maneuverability, in the right hands, this aggressive bullpup rifle can dominate the battlefield.” A “solid” hip-fire spread also makes the assault rifle viable in short-range engagements. The developers also claimed that the weapon has an “easy to learn” recoil pattern, perfect for short to medium-range gunfights. Whether or not it does take over Warzone’s best weapons meta remains to be seen, but you’ll no doubt want to get it leveled up at launch, just in case.

How to get Flaming Pumpkin Head in Warzone & Modern Warfare – Dexerto
How to get Flaming Pumpkin Head in Warzone & Modern Warfare ActivisionThe Halloween Event in Modern Warfare & Warzone has brought in a whole bunch of new content for players to sink their teeth into — but one thing that players are chasing is the new Pumpkin Head and Flaming Pumpkin Head look. [jwplayer EM7ByTrZ] As most uber-popular games do nowadays, Infinity Ward are capitalizing on the Halloween period with their own celebrations, including the Haunting in Verdansk Warzone event, new Operator packs with spooky skins and cosmetics and the Zombie Royale game mode. With the new Trick or Treat rewards, you can also loot chests to find fun new blueprints, such as the Cleaver melee weapon that are exclusive to the Halloween event. That said, the new Pumpkin Head style isn’t something you can pick up from the store or on your Battle Pass, and requires you to complete something in-game. Killstreak for Flaming Pumpkin head The Pumpkin Head comes in two variants — either its regular version or, if you’re good enough, it sets alight too, letting you run around with a Flaming Pumpkin Head as you decimate enemies in the game. Unfortunately, though, it’s not something you can equip. If you want to adorn the Pumpkin Head in multiplayer, you have to go on a 3 killstreak. If you want to go one up and have a Flaming Pumpkin Head, though, you have to actually go on a 10 killstreak, which is significantly harder than 3, but makes the pumpkin ever more impressive. You will, however, lose it upon death. How to get the Pumpkin Head in Warzone It’s worth noting that this doesn’t work the same in Warzone as it does in multiplayer. While many believe the pumpkin head can be earned through a 3 killstreak in Warzone, this isn’t actually true. So far, it seems the only way to get the pumpkin head in Warzone is to pick up a juggernaut, which automatically comes with the head attached as standard during the Haunting of Verdansk event. Of course, while players who come up against you and your lit pumpkin head will know that you’re evidently a good player, it does make you a lot easier to see, so beware as enemies make more of an effort to hunt you out and stop you from staying low-key, especially if you’re seeking even higher killstreaks.

How to get CoD Zombies Chrysalax Wonder Weapon in Forsaken: quest, forms – Dexerto
How to get CoD Zombies Chrysalax Wonder Weapon in Forsaken: quest, forms ActivisionThe new Chrysalax Wonder Weapon in Black Ops Cold War’s Forsaken map is not one to overlook and we’ve got the complete guide on how it works and how you can get your hands on it. The final round-based map in Cold War is now upon us as players are jumping into Forsaken. As always, secrets are hidden around every corner and the Zombies community is slowly unraveling the mysteries contained within. While the full questline is a massive undertaking, anyone can get their hands on the new Wonder Weapon easily enough. In fact, there are even multiple ways to claim the Chrysalax for yourself. We’ve broken down each method in the new Forsaken map so you can wield the powerful Chrysalax Wonder Weapon in no time at all. Getting the Chrysalax Wonder Weapon for free This first method is the most effective in guaranteeing you get your hands on the Chrysalax Wonder Weapon. While it is possible in a few different ways, following these steps will net you the multifaceted weapon every time around. Kill a Tormentor with fire First up, your job is to kill a Tormentor with fire. These are the bright red exploding zombies that appear at random. There’s no way of guaranteeing their spawn, so just keep an eye out. As soon as one appears, be sure to equip some sort of fiery weapon to take it out. We recommend the flamethrower for a quick and easy kill. Upon wiping out a Tormentor with a fiery blast, the first component to build the Chrysalax will appear on the ground. Have an Abomination destroy a Dark Aether crystal Next, your job is to find an Abomination and well… keep it alive. Despite being one of the tougher foes on the map, you don’t actually want to attack it just yet. Find the three-headed beast and lure it close to a Dark Aether crystal. The Abomination needs to use its lightning attack in close proximity to the crystal. In doing so, it shatters the crystal and reveals the next part to form the Chrysalax. Defend the donut shop For the third and final component, head to the donut shop POI a few rounds into your run. At a certain point, you’ll hear that an ‘anomaly’ has crash-landed in the shop. Once this appears, simply stand on the glowing orange substance and various bosses will spawn in. Clear out every target without stepping off the anomaly. Upon taking out the final boss, a new part will appear. Charge the Particle Accelerator With all three parts now ready to go, venture underground to the Particle Accelerator. In here, simply place all three items and zombies will start spawning nearby. Your final challenge is to wipe out these Zombies with melee only. This will charge the components and before long, form the Chrysalax Wonder Weapon. Earning the Chrysalax through arcade games While arcade games might be considered nothing more than a distraction, one in particular can actually give you the new Chrysalax Wonder Weapon. First things first, you’ll need to collect enough arcade tokens dropped at random by various zombies. Once you’ve got a pocket-full, head to the arcade section and activate the ‘Der Eisendrache’ pinball machine. This will teleport you to an eerily familiar environment if you’re an experienced Outbreak player. Simply clear enough zombies from the area and a golden chest will spawn in the middle of the map. Open it and there’s a good chance a Chrysalax will be waiting for you. Similar to the Mystery Box, however, this isn’t a guaranteed drop. There’s a good chance you get something powerful, but it’s not always going to be the Chrysalax. If you get unlucky, just rinse and repeat the same process. Legendary Trial Rewards Perhaps the most efficient method of grabbing the Chrysalax Wonder Weapon is through the Trial Computer. This machine is located in the Observation Tower and can be accessed after repairing the main teleporter and clearing the first Abomination. Once you reach the computer, you can exchange 500 points to receive a random challenge. Clearing a few of the easier tiers will unlock legendary trials. Upon completing this high-tier objective, you’ll be handed a Chrysalax for your troubles. Finding Chrysalax in the Mystery Box Last but not least, there’s always the Mystery Box. It’s an extremely rare drop, but the Chrysalax can be pulled from the lucky crate directly. As a result, it’s not a foolproof method. So if your run absolutely depends on having the Chrysalax, the Mystery Box should only be a last resort. It’ll cost you 950 points each time around and as usual, there’s no guarantee you’ll land on the right gun. It could take a dozen attempts so be sure to go with the consistent methods above before falling back on the Mystery Box. How the Chrysalax Wonder Weapon works Similar to the CRBR-S Wonder Weapon in Mauer Der Toten, the Chrysalax has multiple unique functions. First is the Storm Mode which works as a more standard rifle, but swapping to the Savager Mode grants you a devastating melee weapon. In Savager Mode, you have numerous attacks at your fingertips. From sweeping blows to energy blades you launch in the sky, it’s one of the more versatile weapons in the game. Below is a quick breakdown on each attack. R2 / RT: Double Axe Swing – L2 / LT: Throw energy blade (requires energy charges) – Hold L2 / LT: keep energy blade spinning in place – Up on D-pad: Transform to gun mode – That’s all there is to know about the latest CoD Zombies Wonder Weapon. Be sure to check out all the new additions in Forsaken with the full Season 6 patch notes.

How to get Cleaver melee blueprint in Warzone – Dexerto
How to get Cleaver melee blueprint in Warzone ActivisionWith the Haunting of Verdansk Halloween event arriving in Warzone, fans have been treated to a bunch of spooky new content, but among the most popular is the Cleaver melee weapon. [jwplayer uc1VZt4E] During Haunting of Verdansk, players will be able to drop into a new mode with Zombie Royale, as well as pick up new Operator packs based on popular horror films Saw and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. On top of these new features, Trick or Treat offers players the opportunity to earn a bunch of new weapons and cosmetic items across the map; but you have to know where to find them. The Cleaver has become instantly popular, with fans wanting to get their hands on the melee weapon, but it’s not easy to do if you don’t know where to look. Although the Cleaver in the ‘Halloween Event’ tab says it’s unlockable in the Gulag, you’ve actually got to head to Prison, in the southeast corner of the map, to unlock it. Here’s a step-by-step guide on what to do: Land at Prison, or make your way over there after dropping (we recommend landing there to maximize your chances). – Head down to the underground section of the POI, which leads all the way down to the Gulag showers. – Clear out any enemies before they can open chests. – Start opening loot chests for yourself, and hope the Cleaver unlocks — this is completely random, so there’s no definite way to tell which box will hold the Cleaver. – Look out for a banner to stretch across the screen saying “Gulag loot found. Blueprint unlocked.” – Once this pops up, the Cleaver will be added to your inventory. Play out the rest of the game, or quit the match to get it on your loadouts straight away! – Once that’s done, you can take the Cleaver into matches to shut down enemies and slay zombies in the new Zombie Royale mode. Pair this with your new Saw or Texas Chainsaw Massacre skins, and you’ll be the scariest soldier in Verdansk.

How to get classic MW2 hit marker sound in Modern Warfare 2 – Dexerto
How to get classic MW2 hit marker sound in Modern Warfare 2 ActivisionIt may have been out for a number of months now, but it’s probably passed a lot of Modern Warfare 2 players by that you can get classic MW2 hit marker sounds in game. Here’s how to do exactly that. The first Modern Warfare 2 will forever be remembered as one of the best CoD games of all time. From its maps – some of which look like returning in the 2022 title – to guns, everyone who played it will feel nostalgic in some way. While the rebooted Modern Warfare series doesn’t share all that much with the OG series, players may not know they can make their game sound more like the classic 2009 title if they choose to. Classic MW2 hit marker sounds in Modern Warfare 2 That’s right — there is actually an in-game option to get the hit marker sounds from the original Modern Warfare 2. To do so is fairly simple: Navigate to your game settings in Modern Warfare 2. – Scroll to ‘Audio’ settings. – Scroll down to ‘Audio Advanced Settings’. – Change ‘hit marker sounds’ to ‘Classic’. This will give players the “Old-school Modern Warfare 2 hit marker sound effects”. – Close the menu and hop into a game. – That’s all there is to it. Once you’ve selected ‘Classic’, you should notice the difference in the game. If you want to change them back, you’ve only to repeat the steps above and select ‘MW’. That’ll give you the “Modernized Modern Warfare II hit marker sound effects”. The Classic hit markers certainly have more of a retro noise to them, perhaps evoking a little bit of nostalgia for veterans of the Activision FPS series.

How to get CDL weapon blueprints in Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2 – Dexerto
How to get CDL weapon blueprints in Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2 Call of Duty LeagueThe Call of Duty League announced Vaznev 9-K weapon blueprints coming to MW2 and Warzone 2. Here is everything you need to know about the new bundles. In November 2022, Modern Warfare 2 celebrated the start of the 2023 CDL season with bundles for each team. It’s rare to load into a Ranked Play match and not see at least one player representing their favorite CDL organization. Only one CDL Major remains before championship weekend in Las Vegas. MW2 put the power in the CDL team’s hands to create another way for players to show their support. Let’s jump right into what CDL fans need to know about the Vaznev 9-K weapon blueprints. Modern Warfare 2 Call of Duty League weapon blueprint release date The Call of Duty League team-designed weapon blueprints launched on May 2. CDL General Manager Daniel Tsay stated: “We heard the ask to deliver more customized team designs, so new this season, teams had the opportunity to create their own weapon blueprint in addition to the usual team bundle, and they absolutely ran with it.” How to purchase the CDL weapon blueprints Players can purchase the CDL weapon blueprints through the in-game store for 7$ each. The bundle includes the Vaznev-9K weapon blueprint, four-player signatures to put on weapons, and a bucket hat weapon charm. It’s important to note that this is a weapon blueprint, not a camo. This skin will only be available on the Vaznev 9-K, and altering any pre-built attachments will change the weapon’s design. Tsay argued that the CDL teams were able to be a lot more detailed with a blueprint design, as opposed to a camo. He admitted that it’s risky, given the fact players won’t be able to edit the loadout if the meta changes, but not much has ever changed for the Vazev. Here is the full CDL loadout. Barrel: Bruen Pendulum – Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90 – Stock: Otrezat Stock – Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip – That’s everything we know about the CDL team-designed weapon blueprints. How to get CDL Champs Packs in Modern Warfare: prices, camos, items, more – Dexerto
How to get CDL Champs Packs in Modern Warfare: prices, camos, items, more Infinity Ward[jwplayer mCpsAxNx]Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone have a flashy new bundle available to commemorate the Call of Duty League’s 2020 Championships, and it’s filled to the brim with shiny new items. Likely the largest pack in Modern Warfare, the CDL Champs Bundle comes with a whopping 69 items: three Legendary Blueprints, two Charms, three Calling Cards, three Emblems, three Sprays and 55 Stickers. And, like the winner of August’s CDL Championship will be, the motif for the entire pack is glistening gold. All. Gold. Everything. 🏆 The CDL Champs 2020 bundle, featuring 69 items, is officially available on all platforms. pic.twitter.com/UAWJJCm4P5 — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) July 10, 2020 It’s hard to tell which elements of this bundle are most enticing, as the entire assortment pays excellent homage to everything from tournament success to the league’s players themselves, as well as the language that has become so ingrained within the CoD community. At $14.99 and unavailable to acquire with COD Points, fans will need to get the wallets out should they want some bling. Infinity Ward has made this hard to resist, as two of the three weapon Blueprints are for some of the most popular guns in multiplayer and Warzone, respectively: the M4A1 and HDR. The black and gold colorways are dark yet lustrous, befitting the energy of a highly anticipated, multi-million dollar championship capping off the CDL’s inaugural season. But while these colorways and textures allude to Champs, the two charms available in the pack are much more direct—a golden championship ring and a miniature version of the coveted trophy. 2 blinged out charms: CDL Champs 2020 ring & trophy. pic.twitter.com/86awsnwsSe — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) July 10, 2020 The rest of the bundle gets a lot more lighthearted and community-oriented, as it features 55 Player Signature Sprays that showcase the full variety of CDL pro autographs and accompanying personalities. While guys like the Dallas Empire’s Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter and Atlanta FaZe’s Preston ‘Priestahh’ Greiner have classy (and possibly professional) penmanship, the Minnesota Rokkr’s Justin ‘SiLLY’ Fargo-Palmer lives up to his namesake with a beautifully genuine tag. That attention to player personality extends even further into the community with the Calling Cards and Emblems, which feature some of the phrases that have become widespread amongst CoD players everywhere. From “I’m frying” to “lost full” and “chalked,” players can now represent their favorite expressions in-game without needing to clutter comms with them. 5 calling cards and 3 emblems, including “”LOST FULL”” and “”I’M FRYING”” fan-favorites 🥓 pic.twitter.com/0eGr5sRPhg — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) July 10, 2020 The CDL Champs 2020 bundle comes alongside another pro-inspired pack, the CDL Team Support pack. That one costs $4.99 and includes very unique Calling Cards, Emblems, and Sprays for each team—including funny nods to team and city histories, like a router Emblem for the Empire and a New York Subliners Spray featuring a rat eating pizza. Whether it’s the sleek M4A1 from the Champs bundle or the distinctive cosmetics from the Team Support pack, July 10 has brought a ton of content for CDL fans to rock in-game.

As is tradition the latest season of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 introduces a range of new guns for players to unlock and level. Amongst these is the Carrack .300, a sniper rifle based on the real-world Walther WA 2000. That name should sound familiar to long-time CoD fans with the semi-auto bullpup sniper having previously appeared in both Black Ops and the original Modern Warfare 2. Here’s everything you need to know to get your hands on the Carrack .300 sniper rifle in MW2 and Warzone 2. Infinity Ward banned one-shot snipers in Ranked Play Warzone 2, vaulting the Signal 50 – another semi-auto sniper – into relevancy. It will be interesting to see if the Carrack .300 sees a similar usage rate in Ranked and other game modes. Even multiplayer has been ruled by them in the past with the likes of the Barrett .50 Cal & AS50. Season 5 begins on August 2.

How to get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered for free on PS4 – Dexerto
How to get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered for free on PS4 The remaster of arguably the most iconic Call of Duty game ever, the original Modern Warfare, is free to download in March, if you are PlayStation Plus member. Initially release with Infinite Warfare’s special editions in 2016, Modern Warfare Remastered brought many older fans of the series back to their nostalgic roots, plus introduced new fans to the more classic style of CoD. The game was left relatively unaltered from its original, 2007 version, but development team Raven Software later added more content – including weapons – to keep the game fresh. Modern Warfare Remastered was later made available to purchase separately as a standalone title, but as of March 2019, PlayStation Plus members won’t have to pay a penny it. Each month, PlayStation puts together a selection of games which are free to download and play, if you are a member of their premium online service. MWR features incredibly graphical improvements on the original game – both Multiplayer and Campaign – and it can even be enjoyed in dynamic 4K (provided you have a PS4 Pro and a 4K TV or monitor). Activision’s colossal Call of Duty series is truly part of the fabric of modern gaming, and it was in 2007 that developer Infinity Ward took the console world by storm with its contemporary spin on the popular action series it helped create. 2016’s Modern Warfare Remastered brought the classic back in full HD for a new generation of gamers, while respectfully retaining its first-class gunplay and brilliant level design. Download it with PS Plus this month to relive a true FPS classic (in glorious dynamic 4K on PS4 Pro when played on a PS4 Pro system and a 4K display). (Via PlayStation Blog) Modern Warfare Remastered will be available to download for free from the PlayStation store on March 5 until April 1, 2019, along with first-person puzzle game The Witness.

How to get Building 21 weapon case from DMZ mode in Warzone 2 – Dexerto
How to get Building 21 weapon case from DMZ mode in Warzone 2 ActivisionJust like Al Mazrah, Building 21 has its very own weapons case full of goodies for those that extract it successfully. With a free Weapon Blueprint, a Weapon Charm, heavy helicopter skin, and more up for grabs, here’s how you can get your hands on the Building 21 weapons case. The Building 21 additional content for Warzone 2’s DMZ mode has finally gone live and it did not take players long to crack most of the secrets of the new map. Gaining access to Building 21 is a challenge on its own that we covered in a separate article. But it is a piece of cake compared to what actually awaits within the walls of this heavily guarded complex. So grab a couple of friends, bring 3-plate vests, and arm yourselves in kitted-out shotguns or SMGs before you venture into Building 21. How to get the Building 21 weapon case Getting the Building 21 weapon case is one of the hardest challenges currently available in all of Warzone according to the general consensus amongst the community and content creators. That’s why preparation is key when approaching it. A full three or four-person team is a must. That’s right: Building 21 allows you to queue up with three other players instead of the usual two for DMZ. You also should be using external communication, and ideally have 3-plate vests and the best meta weapons you are most experienced with. When you load into Building 21, follow the instructions outlined below: Locate a staircase, typically spawning on the outer edges of the map. – Go all the way down, to the lowest level of the building. You will then need to scour the bottom floor for a server room. – There is no in-game map available for Building 21, so getting around is a challenge. The server room is the only room on the map primarily lit by red lights, instead of the usual white ones. You can even spot the red glow through the gap underneath the door if you look at each door you pass closely. – If you find the server room to quickly it will be locked and you will need to hold the position until a pop-up informs all players that all security locks are deactivated. This simply happens after the match has been live for a couple of minutes. – There is one interactable server rack in this room that you will have to find by running around. Interacting with it takes around 30 seconds total and can be interrupted if you let go of the interact button or are downed. You can still shoot and look around as long as you do not let go of the interact button. – When you successfully hack the server you need to backtrack to the staircase and make your way to the top floor. – The server hack immediately opens an armory room on the top floor. It can be easily identified by the unique orange door model. – Inside the armory room, there is a safe your team will need to drill. Inside the safe lies the Building 21 weapons case that you will then need to extract via the elevator. – It goes without saying but the building is FULL of armored bots and other players. You can skip certain steps by camping at specific locations, knowing how this process works. For example, you can immediately head up to the armory room and wait for some unsuspecting players to do the hacking for you, then eliminate them when they come for the safe. Or, since there is only one exfil point on the map, you can camp the exfil elevator. This can also easily be done to you, so be on your guard through the whole ordeal. Don’t be too worried about failure, there are reports that the access card for Building 21 is currently bugged, allowing infinite retries without being consumed as it should. Building 21 weapon case rewards The weapon case needs to be extracted a total of 6 times to earn you all the rewards. Anyone on your team also gets the weapon case loot when you all exfil. Here are the Building 21 weapon case rewards in order: 1st reward – “Going Bark” weapon charm – 2nd reward – “Weapon Rover” calling card – 3rd reward – “Roar” weapon sticker – 4th reward – “Company Sniper” emblem – 5th reward – “Camo Cloud” vehicle skin for the heavy chopper – 6th reward – “Silver Tox” weapon blueprint for the chimera assault rifle – So, there you have it, that’s everything you need to know about Warzone 2’s DMZ mode Building 21 map and the weapon case associated with it. Be sure to check out our Call of Duty page for all the latest news and guides.

How to get Black Ops Cold War’s Hauer 77 shotgun blueprint for free – Dexerto
How to get Black Ops Cold War’s Hauer 77 shotgun blueprint for free ActivisionBlack Ops Cold War has a slew of weapons but only a couple shotguns, at least for right now. That being said, players can get a free blueprint for the more powerful shotgun in the game, the Hauer 77, just by completing a simple task. Here’s how you can unlock it. [jwplayer 38QHhqzR] If the alpha and beta are any indication, Black Ops Cold War has some pretty powerful weapons. Between the M16 rifle, the MP5 SMG, and the semi-auto Gallo SA-12 shotgun, there are some incredibly formidable weapons that players have access to while playing. One of the best weapons in the game is the Hauer 77 shotgun. Of course, pump-action shotguns have always been relatively powerful in CoD games, but this one is capable of one-shot kills with ease. Now you can get a blueprint for the shotgun, simply by being open to some more emails. Hauer 77 “Battle Worn” Blueprint While the shotgun itself is quite powerful, the blueprint is a bit unique. Aesthetically it features a black and lime-green color-scheme, alongside the MACV-SOG logo and camo, which will certainly make the weapon stand out against other weapons in the game. Given that it’s a blueprint and not a camo, it also comes with some attachments. According to Activision, it comes with an extended magazine, an alternate stock, and a different grip. It’s currently unknown which specific grip and stock are attached to the gun or if there are other attachments included that the devs aren’t telling us about. How to unlock the “Battle Worn” Blueprint Unlocking the Battle Worn Blueprint is relatively simple. All you have to do sign up for marketing emails from Call of Duty. While the steps to complete this are a bit annoying, they are easy enough to follow and should only take a few minutes to do. Log-in to your Call of Duty Account. – Click on Preferences – Opt-in to emails – After that, all you have to do is log-in to Black Ops Cold War and it should be awarded to you in-game. While it does require you to go through a few hoops, getting a blueprint for a powerful shotgun could make it worthwhile in the end. Here’s hoping that Treyarch and Activision do more deals like this in the future because getting these unique weapons is certainly a nice touch.

How to get Black Ops Cold War Holiday Onslaught LW3 blueprint – Dexerto
How to get Black Ops Cold War Holiday Onslaught LW3 blueprint ActivisionWith the release of Black Ops Cold War Season 1, Zombies players on PS4 and PS5 are able to jump into a new experience called Holiday Onslaught, which brings a festive spin to the PlaySation-exclusive mode and allows players to get their hands on a new LW3 – Tundra blueprint. While Onslaught is only available to PlayStation players as of the time of this writing, it seems Treyarch will be giving it a bunch of support, with the developer making new maps available for use in the mode, right when they get released in the normal multiplayer. With the release of Season 1 a few days back, Treyarch made a new, limited-time version of the mode available: Holiday Onslaught. With it, comes a brand new variant of the LW3 to unlock. Here’s how you can get your hands on it. BOCW Zombies: Holiday Onslaught PlayStation players: unlock the new LW3 Sniper Rifle blueprint in the Holiday Onslaught event, live now in #BlackOpsColdWar Zombies for a limited time. pic.twitter.com/uXDvuMzWd8 — CharlieIntel (@charlieINTEL) December 20, 2020 The difference between the normal Onslaught mode and the Holiday version is simple: there are snowballs on the map and the undead are wearing Santa hats. There’s no tricks here, it just seems to be the standard version with snowballs added in for good measure. Now, to be fair, the snowballs do change up the gameplay a bit, as they can damage and slow down Zombies that are hit. That being said, they are almost certainly not taking any of the undead down unless you have an Insta-Kill active. How to get the free LW3 Tundra Bronzewood Blueprint Getting your hands on the LW3 Bronzewood blueprint is quite simple, but may require a bit of effort. It’s going to be given to you for free, and there’s a few steps you have to follow. It’s still not nearly as hard as it could have been. Start the Holiday Onslaught mode. – Once loaded into the map, search for piles of snowballs and pick them up. – Throw the snowballs at the zombies and then quickly kill them once they are frozen. – Repeat this until you’ve killed 25 separate zombies that way. – The Bronzewood Blueprint should appear in your inventory after the match is over. – The worst part of the above is hitting the zombies with the snowballs. Because of their movement, hitting one can be a bit tricky at times. Still, once you try it a couple times, you’ll get the hang of it quickly. While the blueprint visually looks cool, the attachments associated with it leave much to be desired, as they are all pretty much the first attachments you unlock. Still, it’s certainly not the worst blueprint you could get and it’s an easy way to get going if you’ve been meaning to try sniping.

How to get Black Ops Cold War easter egg truck skin in Warzone – Dexerto
How to get Black Ops Cold War easter egg truck skin in Warzone ActivisionActivision have been drip-feeding Warzone fans with Black Ops Cold War teasers, and now players can unlock a unique Cargo Truck camo by following a few simple steps. Fans who have already digitally pre-ordered Black Ops Cold War will have gained access to Sgt. Frank Woods as a playable Operator in Warzone. The bundle also comes with an assault rifle weapon blueprint, a player quip, and unique finishing move for players to utilize in-game. But for those who haven’t pre-ordered the next iteration of Call of Duty, players can now unlock their own unique Cargo Truck camo via a neat little easter egg on the Pawn Takes Pawn website. How to redeem ‘Iron Curtain’ Warzone Cargo Truck First of all, you will need to visit pawntakespawn.com/invisibletruths and either sign into their account or create one. After doing so, you’ll be prompted to input six keycodes into the pop-up box. Each of these keycodes are derived from playing Zork on the terminal of the ‘codecave’ landing page on the Pawn Takes Pawn website. Luckily, PrestigeIsKey outlined exactly what codes were needed, to save all the hassle. Geeky Pastimes and co. managed to salvage the following codes, which when entered into the ‘invisible truths’ page, will unlock the achievement on the Pawn Takes Pawn site. FUGAZIFILE – BURNBAG – INTELFIRE – INFOHAX – SHREDITALL – GRIDSQUARE – After unlocking the achievement, you’ll be able to click to redeem your code, which should then be input on the official Call of Duty website and will be added to your inventory shortly after. The whole process is summarized below. Go to pawntakespawn.com/invisibletruths. – Enter the six keycodes (above). – Go to the ‘achievements’ tab and click to redeem your reward. – Input the code into callofduty.com/redeem to redeem the ‘Iron Curtain’ Warzone Truck. – It’s not yet known whether there will be more cosmetic items offered as part of the continuous Black Ops Cold War teasers. But with Treyarch pulling out all of the stops to jeer up fans, and the multiplayer reveal penned in for September 9, it’s likely that there’s more to come before the official release on November 13.

How to get Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Happy Holidays Bundle for free – Dexerto
How to get Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Happy Holidays Bundle for free ActivisionPlayers can finally get their hands on a free Black Ops Cold War x Warzone Holiday bundle which includes a sniper blueprint among other items. Here’s how you can find the bundle and redeem it. If you’ve been wondering how to collect your copy of the Black Ops Cold War Holiday Bundle that was revealed some time ago, then your questions are about to be answered. Activision and Treyarch have released all three Holiday Bundles within the first-person shooter and one of them is completely free of charge. But what comes packaged in the free bundle and how can you get your hands on it? Read on to get the full breakdown. Black Ops Cold War Holiday Bundle Contents Easily the most notable item in the bundle is the Epic M82 Frozen Chosen blueprint, which gives the weapon a unique frosted-theme, complete with icicles. Of course, since it’s a blueprint, it also comes with some attachments, including a new magazine, muzzle, barrel, stock, and handle. Beyond that, the pack also includes two weapon charms, one based on a snowman and the other based on a jingle bell, as well as an emblem and calling card, which all keep with the winter and snow theme. While all of that is cool, it’s not crazy to say that most will be redeeming this free bundle for the blueprint, which includes a surprisingly solid selection of attachments, improving the weapon overall. Unfortunately, they don’t seem to help mitigate the M82’s painfully slow ADS time that much, but that’s not really surprising. How to redeem the bundle Getting your hands on the bundle is simple. It can be found just like any other DLC pack in the game and luckily, there’s nothing you need to do before hand in order to make it pop up. If you’re still having trouble, here are the steps you can follow: Open Black Ops Cold War or Warzone – Tab over to the “Store” section – Scroll down until you find the “Happy Holidays Free Bundle” and select it – Select “Claim Bundle” – After that, the items should appear in your inventory to select as you so desire, just like any other bundle or pack that you would buy from the Call of Duty in-game store. All in all, with the amount of items you’re getting in the pack and the quality of items in that pack, it seems like a steal to give it away for free. Unfortunately, there’s no telling how long it’ll be in the store for, so you’ll want to get your hands on it as quick as possible.

How to get an EMP killstreak in Modern Warfare 3 – Dexerto
How to get an EMP killstreak in Modern Warfare 3 SledgehammerSeason 1 of Modern Warfare 3 is coming fast and the new content is bringing in two new killstreaks, one of which is a throwback to Black Ops 2, the EMP. The first season of content for Modern Warfare 3 was announced on November 30. The announcement showcased new maps, modes, killstreaks, and other goodies coming to the game on December 6. The showcase also included new Zombies content and updates to Call of Duty: Warzone. Among the new content coming to the game are two throwback killstreaks from Black Ops 2, Swarm and the EMP. Those who remember the EMP streak from the previous title should know just how powerful and useful it can be. Here is how players can earn the EMP in Modern Warfare 3. The EMP is coming to MWIII First, players will need to unlock the killstreak via Armory Challenges once the update comes out. Once unlocked, the killstreak just needs to be added to your arsenal. In an actual match, players must earn 1,625 points, or 13 kills, to call in the killstreak. Players can also earn points through assists, other killstreak eliminations, or objectives, so getting 13 kills is not always needed to call in an EMP. Once called in, the EMP will disrupt all enemy killstreaks and equipment. This killstreak was usually utilized in Black Ops 2 as the second-most expensive streak in a player’s loadout. The EMP helped deal with UAVs and made it easier for players to roll through to their most expensive streak without enemy streaks potentially killing them. The EMP will also be helpful in objective game modes in Modern Warfare 3 as it will disrupt equipment that many players throwdown on objectives to deter enemies from contesting certain areas. Players can try out the new steak when it becomes available on December 6.

How to get all FR Avancer attachments in Modern Warfare 2: Universal wrap explained – Dexerto
How to get all FR Avancer attachments in Modern Warfare 2: Universal wrap explained ActivisionIf you are sick of grinding weapon attachments in 24/7 Shipment matches, there is a quicker method to unlock every attachment for the new FR Avancer AR in Modern Warfare 2. Much to the chagrin of Modern Warfare 2 community members, Infinity Ward appears to have abandoned weapon vaults. Activision’s new innovation automatically unlocks all 50-plus attachments for a weapon and allows players to mix and match attachments without losing the blueprint’s aesthetic. Weapon blueprints pale in comparison because their aesthetics only remain if players stick with the pre-built loadout. Any attachment changes will alter the gun’s appearance. The FJX Cinder Weapon Vault was a pre-order bonus for the Vault Edition and awarded every attachment and a stylish red camo design for the M4. Unfortunately, it was the last weapon vault Modern Warfare 2 received and players slammed the devs for “lying” about the forgotten feature. Season 5 marks the return of a similar concept but rebranded under a new name. What is a Modern Warfare 2 universal wrap? CharlieIntel reported: “The new Tracer Pack: Penumbra Bundle includes universal wrap – the Onyx Pitch skin is applied to all FR Avancer attachments, and this bundle instant unlocks all the FR Avancer attachments.” Players can purchase the Penumbra Bundle in the Modern Warfare 2 store for 2000 COD points, which amounts to $19.99. Community members praised the bundle but scratched their heads over how this isn’t just a weapon vault. One Modern Warfare 2 player responded: “This is how all bundles should be. Most of them, you take off the attachments, and half of the blueprint camo is gone.” A second user added: “After 8 months, we finally get another vault weapon.” Other community members mocked the devs over a lack of transparency. “I’m glad they’re finally figuring things out, ‘but better late than never’ seems questionable.” Understandably, not everyone will support a $20 microtransaction but universal wraps provide a unique alternative to weapon blueprints. If you want to know which attachments to use on the FR Avancer in Warzone 2, make sure to check out our loadout guide.

How to get a V2 Rocket in Call of Duty: Vanguard – Dexerto
How to get a V2 Rocket in Call of Duty: Vanguard ActivisionCall of Duty players have always loved the reward of a tactical nuke and Vanguard’s community is no exception. If you want Call of Duty: Vanguard’s V2 Rocket (aka the nuke killstreak), here’s how to get one. Getting a nuke in CoD is no small feat. It’s always been the height of killstreaks and scorestreak achievements since it ends the entire game early with a literal bang. The gold standard of killstreaks, the Tactical Nuke, is back in Vanguard as the V2 Rocket. When you get it, it’s one explosive celebration and one hell of a notch to put on any grinder’s belt. Securing a V2 Rocket is by no means easy, but it’s actually not that complicated. Here’s how you can get your very own game-ending nuke in CoD’s 2021 title. How to get Call of Duty: Vanguard’s nuke killstreak: the V2 Rocket Since Vanguard is a killstreak title, streaks work closer to Modern Warfare 2019 than Black Ops Cold War. And the way to get a V2 Rocket is simple: Secure 25 kills. Making life even easier, you don’t even need to have the V2 Rocket equipped as a killstreak to use it. Likely understanding how tall a task 25 consecutive kills without dying is, the game immediately awards a V2 to anyone who hits that mark. Best and fastest ways to get the V2 Rocket in Vanguard Here’s my 39 Second V2 Rocket (Worlds Fastest?) that I uploaded yesterday! I wanna say I realize this takes no skill in this lobby but holy shit did it bring me back to my old pub stomping days! This shotgun is so busted but damn was this fun 😈 pic.twitter.com/y4H6dDrVsk — Crakrz | Mitch 🇨🇦 (@Crakrz) November 9, 2021 If you want the V2 Rocket as fast as possible, the Combat Shotgun appears to be your best bet. ‘Crakrz’ was able to get a nuke in just 39 seconds using the monstrous weapon and flying around the map with unlimited confidence. But going for speed is tough with such a high killstreak. A random wallbang or grenade toss can ruin all of your efforts. If you want the most effective way to get one, then you should use a ranged option like the STG 44. With a quality STG loadout, you can play patiently and hold lanes down to rack up kills without letting enemies get too close. While this is somewhat boring, it gives you the best chance at hitting 25 straight kills without dying to a random rogue enemy. Of course, if you’re a demon like OpTic Texas’s Brandon ‘Dashy’ Otell, you can still use the STG to get a V2 in just two minutes…

How to get a Swarm killstreak in Modern Warfare 3 – Dexerto
How to get a Swarm killstreak in Modern Warfare 3 SledgehammerSeason 1 of Modern Warfare 3 is coming fast and the new content is bringing in two new killstreaks, one of which is a throwback to Black Ops 2, Swarm. Killstreaks are an integral part of the Call of Duty experience and Modern Warfare 3 has an abundance of new and old ones for players to choose from. In the Season 1 announcement, the developers revealed the new maps, modes, and killstreaks that are coming to the game on December 6, which include the EMP and Swarm killstreaks from Black Ops 2. Those who remember Swarm from the previous title should know just how powerful it can be, and also how hard it is to get. Here is how players can earn Swarm in Modern Warfare 3. How to earn the Swarm killstreak in MWIII Swarm calls in a large number of Mosquito Drones that will rain down on an area or the entire map. To call it in, players will first need to unlock it via an Armory Challenge. Once unlocked, all you need to do is equip the killstreak before hopping into a game and get 1875 points to call it in. That point total equates to about 15 kills. Players can earn the streak without confirming that many kills, but only in objective-based game modes. Objectives give players a different amount of points depending on the mode, so players who play the objective while also racking up kills will be able to call in the airstrike without needing to get exactly 15 eliminations. To make earning the killstreak easier, players can also equip cheaper streaks that they can call in to net more kills or reveal enemies to make this task less arduous. Players will gain access to this classic streak once Season 1 drops on December 6.

How to get a nuke on Rebirth Island in Warzone – Dexerto
How to get a nuke on Rebirth Island in Warzone ActivisionRebirth Island has made a return to Warzone as part of the Season 3 launch, and along with it is the ability to launch a nuke that will end the match early and claim victory for whoever uses it. Check out how you can level the playing field for yourself. The ability to call in a nuke has been in CoD for a long time but has now moved from multiplayer over to Warzone, including Urzikstan and Vondel. This continues with the rereleased Rebirth Island map coming back to the game. This massive weapon will wipe out every enemy on your map, along with your own character, and end the match early. Of course, this is far from easy to do, which is why you will need to know how to launch the nuke on Rebirth Island before you hop in. How to get a nuke on Rebirth Island To be able to launch a nuke on Rebirth Island, you will have to complete the Champion’s Quest, as you would for the other maps since this mechanic came to Warzone. As of right now, the requirements for unlocking the Champion’s Quest are not confirmed, but based on previous seasons and maps, it can be assumed that you will either need to win 5 games in a row or win 30 matches total during the season. Once the Champion’s Quest is unlocked, you will then have to drop into a match of Resurgence Rebirth Island and pick up the quest. On your map will be three yellow markers that indicate the three elements you will have to collect and bring together to assemble the nuke. Once you have activated the quest, the rest of the lobby will be informed that you are pursuing the Champion’s Quest and they will certainly try to stop you. Your goal is to assemble all three elements to create the nuke, then defend it while it launches. Of course, this is easier said than done and will require a lot of coordination if you are playing with a group. It also needs to be mentioned that only one person needs to unlock the Champion’s Quest for everyone in a squad to be able to do it. For completing the quest and launching the nuke on Rebirth Island, you will unlock: Animated Calling Card – Charm – Sticker – Weapon Camo – Operator Skin –

How to create a Counter UAV in Warzone – Dexerto
How to create a Counter UAV in Warzone Infinity WardUAVs are particularly common in Call of Duty: Warzone, but a host of players don’t know that Counter or Advanced UAVs are also available. Here’s how to get them. It is nothing new in Warzone to have a UAV called in on you, or to call one in for yourself. They are available for $4,000 at any Buy Station, and are especially useful in early game scenarios when it is less likely that enemies have earned the Ghost perk. However, a recent Warzone update enabled players to earn Counter UAVs, but it appears a lot of players are still unaware of the changes. Past leaks and glitches have suggested that they will be coming to Buy Stations like any other killstreak, they are currently available in a much more expensive form. How to get a Counter UAV in Warzone While they could soon be available for the same price as buying a fallen teammate back, they are currently available for $16,000. This is because, in Warzone’s current build, the only way to call in a Counter UAV is to call in four UAVs simultaneously. Calling in four UAVs is hardly a cost-effective way of earning yourself a Counter UAV, but you also earn an Advanced UAV at the same time. This shows on players’ radars by showing red arrows for all opposition players. Like the Blackbirds and VSATs of old, players with Ghost are not hidden from these Advanced UAVs so they are a top tier streak, at any point of the game. Stack up $16,000 – Head to a buy station – Buy four UAVs and use them in quick succession – You will now have a Counter UAV/Advanced UAV in the air – Away from their lucrative cost, another issue with Counter UAVs is, in their current build, players calling them in do not get vocal confirmation that one is active. Enemies receive a vocal prompt that one has been called in, but there does not appear to be any confirmation for the player calling in the streak. This is frustrating for now, but it does appear that a Counter UAV will be added to the game’s buy station in a future update. Until then, $16,000 please.

How to get .50 GS pistol in Call of Duty Mobile – Dexerto
How to get .50 GS pistol in Call of Duty Mobile ActivisionA new pistol, the .50 GS, is now available in CoD Mobile – and you don’t have to go through a lucky draw for one. No, you can get it for free through a series of challenges. With each new Call of Duty Mobile season, the developers of the popular mobile game have flooded it with new content. Be it a new map, a new event, character, perk, or weapon, there has been plenty for fans to get their teeth stuck into. Sometimes though, in the case of weapons especially, some of this new content is locked behind lucky draws – so you’ve got to pony up some cash if you really want something. In the case of the new .50 GS pistol, which is pretty much just the Desert Eagle, the lucky draw isn’t something you need to worry about. Instead, you just need to complete a series of challenges. CoD Mobile .50 GS handgun Small Arms challenges There are seven challenges you need to complete come from the Small Arms seasonal event to get the new handgun, each getting slightly more challenging than the last. For example, you kick off with needing to get five melee kills, before progressing to normal pistol kills. In the end, you’ll also need 20 headshots with pistols, which isn’t an easy feat for any player, but its not impossible. The full list of challenges can be found below: Kill 5 enemies with Melee Attacks. – Kill 10 enemies with Pistols in MP matches. – Kill 10 Enemies with Quick Fix perk equipped. – Kill 20 Enemies with J358 in MP matches equipped with any laser. – Kill 20 enemies with J358 in MP matches equipped with any 3 attachments. – Earn Back Stabber Medal 3 times. – Kill 20 Enemies with Headshots using any Pistol. – However, you shouldn’t get any ideas about completing the challenges in any random order. They need to be done in the order they’re set. This is a bit of a pain, but, at least it gives you something to target in each match.

How to ‘G-Walk’ in Modern Warfare 2: Insane movement trick explained – Dexerto
How to ‘G-Walk’ in Modern Warfare 2: Insane movement trick explained ActivisionThe new ‘G-Walk’ movement trick is taking Modern Warfare 2 by storm. Here’s how it’s done so you can be zooming around the map in no time. Infinity Ward looked to stamp out advanced movement techniques in this year’s CoD release, namely by removing the ability to slide cancel, well, at least they tried to. It only took players a matter of weeks to effectively break the game and uncover even more absurd input combinations in light of this change. With the game’s pace slowed down, the community has quickly figured out ways of abusing map design, movement systems, and various mechanics to blitz through any given gunfight. In the past few days alone we’ve seen “dolphin hopping” come into focus, with players all but flying across multiplayer modes, making themselves near impossible to hit. Now, another absurd-looking technique has been revealed as a group of players under the ‘EuphoriaDream’ banners have shared the ‘G-Walk’ movement trick in Modern Warfare 2. What is the G-Walk in Modern Warfare 2? The newly coined ‘G-Walk’ trick was first established on November 21 by the crew at EuphoriaDream. Together, these players showed the trick in action and went viral across social media for being the first to discover its true potential. In the blink of an eye this technique can have Operators zooming from point A to point B, constantly dipping to the ground then standing back up in one smooth motion. In doing so, they become an exceptionally difficult target to hit. As their character is constantly changing stance, locking on and connecting shots is no easy task. How to G-Walk in Modern Warfare 2 When it comes to executing the ‘G-Walk’ in Modern Warfare 2, it’s much easier to perform with a keyboard and mouse. While it is still possible with a controller using third-party software that we won’t share here, the timing is more consistent by using the scroll wheel on a gaming mouse. Below is a quick rundown of how to G-Walk on PC: Open your Settings menu – Set Automatic Sprint to ‘Off’ – Set Tactical Sprint Behavior to ‘Single Tap Sprint’ – In the Keybinds menu, set ‘Prone’ to ‘Scroll Wheel Down’ – Rapidly alternate between sprinting and going prone to G-Walk in MW2 on PC. – If you’re able to “master the interval perfectly”, you’ll find that this movement trick outright silences footstep audio, making you a ghost on the map. With the effectiveness of this trick, however, don’t expect it to remain in the game for all too long. Keep your eyes peeled for any updates from Infinity Ward as they more than likely look to remove this powerful technique.

How to fly further in Warzone – Dexerto
How to fly further in Warzone Infinity WardCall of Duty players have found a clever Warzone trick that can help you glide over 50% further in the air after deploying your parachute. Here’s what you’ll need to do. Although Warzone was initially released on March 10, players are still uncovering plenty of new tips and tricks to get ahead of their opponents in-game. One of the latest tricks found has revealed that players can actually fly much further than usual in the air, helping you get some of the more distant drop zones in Verdansk without too much trouble. Tactics for gliding faster or further in the early game are usually picked up through experience, however, Call of Duty YouTuber JGOD shared one trick that works surprisingly well, despite looking a bit unusual on your screen. While many rely on cutting the parachute and redeploying to get across the map, JGOD explained that controlling your speed by gliding diagonally could actually work better. Instead of maintaining the max speed while flying forwards, which will also send you downwards at the same rate, there’s a way to slow your descent by half while reaching top speed. Here’s what you’ll need to fly further in Warzone: How to glide further in Call of Duty: Warzone Drop out of the plane and immediately pull your parachute. – Start gliding sideways towards your drop zone of choice. You can make use of the Free Look tool to see where you’re going. – While gliding at 6.6 speed, angle your character a little more forward until your speed reaches the 6.7-7.2 range. – You’ll then need to maintain this angle for the duration of your glide. – Guide starts at 1:11 Once you follow these steps, you should be gliding at top speed towards your desired point-of-interest while falling at a much slower rate. This trick can be quite difficult to master, so it may take a couple of tries before you can pull it off every match. Another tactic that helps when dropping in is simply waiting until the plane is parallel with where you want to go, leaving you with the shortest distance to cover while gliding.

How to fix Zombies Mauer Der Toten broken map glitch – Dexerto
How to fix Zombies Mauer Der Toten broken map glitch ActivisionWith the Season 4 Reloaded update, Black Ops Cold War players got their hands on the brand new Zombies map Mauer Der Toten — but it didn’t take long for some huge issues to arise. Almost immediately, it became clear that there are serious issues with the new Zombies map. The new round-based map has a huge texture bug that’s making it unplayable for players on Xbox Series X, with textures not loading in. With entire sections of the map simply not appearing, and players clipping between levels, there has been outrage at the launch of Mauer Der Toten. While Treyarch have confirmed that the issue is on their radar, some players have found workarounds or temporary solutions while the issue gets fixed. Posting to Reddit, darkrangeresp revealed two solutions that they have found to get into the action and play the map properly. The first solution is either downloading the unenhanced version of the game on an external hard drive or deleting the HD textures from your console. This does mean it will be of a lower quality, but it might be worthwhile for the ability to actually play the map. The second solution darkrangeresp recommends is to simply sit in the Zombies menu for a while (they suggest 40 minutes). It appears this gives it enough time to load, with darkrangeresp saying they got it to work properly three times after doing this. While these aren’t ideal solutions, it is preferable to playing a completely broken map, or not playing the new content at all. Hopefully, Treyarch releases a fix sooner rather than later so we don’t have to hunt for solutions, but for now, it’s well worth trying these out so you can at least play the map properly.

How to fix “Your data is corrupt” error in Warzone & MW3 Season 1: Launch issue explained – Dexerto
How to fix “Your data is corrupt” error in Warzone & MW3 Season 1: Launch issue explained ActivisionSeason 1 is now live across Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, though some players are being hit with the “Your data is corrupt” error message right out of the gate. Here’s what it is and how you can easily fix it. After months of anticipation, Season 1 is finally upon us. With the major update, Modern Warfare 3 has now been integrated with Warzone, bringing all-new weapons, movement mechanics, and gameplay features over. However, the launch hasn’t exactly gone according to plan. While thousands are attempting to drop in, many are being met with a surprising error out of the gate. “Your data is corrupt” is an error message showing up for countless gamers regardless of platform. So here’s the rundown on what it means and how you can easily fix it. How to fix “Your data is corrupt” error in Warzone & MW3 Season 1 Fixing the “Your data is corrupt” error in MW3 & Warzone is as simple as pressing ‘Yes’ once the message appears on your screen. In doing so, you’ll instantly bypass the issue and go straight into the game after installing the Season 1 update. The reason this error message appears seems to be due to an error in its own right. Mere moments after the Season 1 patch rolled out, devs quickly addressed the issue on Twitter, claiming players “may see an incorrect error message.” One that claims their “data is corrupt.” If you see this particular message, you don’t have much to worry about, devs confirmed. “Rest assured that your rank, unlocks, and purchases are not lost, although Loadouts, customization, and certain settings may be reset.” So it’s simply a matter of ignoring this error, for the most part, and at worst, having to change a few settings around in the menus before dropping back in. This error message should only display once upon your first login and evidently won’t have any impact tangible impact on your data. So that’s all there is to it, a quick button press to skip the message and get you back in the action. For all the latest on Warzone & MW3 Season 1, be sure to check out our full coverage here.

How to fix Warzone’s ‘fatal error unknown function’ error message – Dexerto
How to fix Warzone’s ‘fatal error unknown function’ error message ActivisionWarzone players on PC have been running into a new error message, fatal error unknown function, since the June 3rd update that is preventing them from playing. So, here are a few ways to maybe get around it. Getting into a game of Warzone, only for it to crash and prevent you from winning can be a huge pain in the neck, but when you’re actually unable to play the battle royale because of an issue, well, that makes things worse. In the past, PC players have had to deal with several error codes that stop them from getting into Verdansk, but the newest seems to be the most annoying of all. That’s right, the fatal error unknown function issue has been cropping up ever since the June 3rd update, and some players have tried everything to get back into Warzone, but have fallen flat. So, here are a few things you can try if you’re having problems. Like most PC issues, the fatal error unknown function problem is a mysterious one. It’s popped up out of the blue since the update, and players have had mixed results. Some have been able to get into games of Modern Warfare, but Warzone just simply does not work because of the issue. The first thing you can do is try to verify your game files. That somethings provides the kick the game needs to iron itself out. If not, you might have to scan and repair the problem. Additionally, you can try a more advanced tactic, adding a code to battle net launcher like YouTuber TECH SITES shows. Load up Battle Net – Head to Warzone – Go to settings, game settings, and then check the box that reads ‘additional command line arguments’ – Type in -D3D11 and then press done – Try to load Warzone – If that doesn’t do it, well, you’re stuck with the classic uninstall and reinstall method. Load up Battle Net – Uninstall Warzone – Wait for it to finish – Reinstall Warzone after a few minutes. – Now, these solutions might not work for you, but they’re worth trying, just to see if it kicks things into gear and gets you back into Verdansk. If somebody, either a player or Raven Software reveals what the golden fix is, we’ll up this article with that. But for now, you’re going to have to try and hope for the best.

How to fix Warzone’s diver error 6 code – Dexerto
How to fix Warzone’s diver error 6 code Screenshot via Modern WarfareWarzone players have been encountering unusual error codes in the forms of ‘DIVER’ and ‘error code 6’. Here’s how you can get around them if they crop up. For most Warzone players, the biggest issue with the game revolves around cheating. Plenty of fans have been outspoken about how they’re ditching the battle royale for something else until a fix is in place. Though, hackers aren’t the only problem. There are, of course, a whole host of issues that pop up – be it a bug preventing you from using the heartbeat sensor to the servers breaking entirely. Well, in recent days, Warzone players have been stopped from even searching for matches due to the ‘DIVER’ error code. Though, you shouldn’t worry, there are ways to get around it. For most players, the error cropped up on August 2nd after an update for a host of bug fixes went out. Some players were disconnected mid-match, while others couldn’t even start up the battle royale. That led many to believe it was related to the servers going down, which was appeared to be the case, given Raven got around to straightening it out. Though, like others, it could pop back up at any point. If it does, there are steps to take. You can obviously go for the full wipe and reinstall the game, but that isn’t all that necessary. You can try to restart your internet as a first option, and even use a different source to connect to the game. How to fix Modern Warfare & Warzone Error Code Diver 6 Close out of Warzone and unplug your router – Wait around a minute before plugging it back in and reconnecting – If this doesn’t fix the issue, move to step 4 – Connect your console/PC to a mobile hotspot and try to start Warzone/download update – If this doesn’t fix the issue, you’ll have to reinstall the game – Of course, you should always check to make sure the problem isn’t specific to yourself. Check the CoD server status or see if players on social media are having the same issue. If the servers are down, there is nothing you can do until Raven gets them back up. If the problem persists on your end otherwise, you’ll have to hit up Activision Support.

How to fix Warzone’s Dev Error 5476 glitch – Dexerto
How to fix Warzone’s Dev Error 5476 glitch ActivisionWarzone players frequently encounter the Dev Error 5476 glitch, so here’s a temporary way of fixing it. Coming across different game-breaking issues in Warzone is unfortunately commonplace these days. While some are dealt with quickly, others are far more frustrating to get around. The ‘Dev Error 5476’ glitch is one of Warzone’s latest culprits, leaving players unable to enjoy any of the game’s features. While an official fix is yet to be implemented, there is a temporary solution that will help you get back into the fight. How to fix Dev Error 5476 in Call of Duty: Warzone Before we outline the details of this fix, is it important to note that this currently only works for console players. As this is a workaround from the community, it is likely that an official hotfix will be rolled out by the developers soon. Thanks to YouTuber WhosImmortal, here’s how you can get around Dev Error 5476 in Warzone: Load up Warzone on your Xbox Series S|X or PlayStation 4|5 Console on a separate account – Make sure this “dummy” account is one you don’t normally use – Have two controllers available to use – Boot up Warzone on the “dummy” account – Turn on the second controller and log into your main account – Go back onto Warzone – From here you can log in and change your loadouts – WhosImmortal recommends changing your emblem and calling card too, while sticking to Vanguard weapons. Even though the YouTuber’s fix has been successful for many players, it is worth noting that some players may still find issues logging into the game. The issue seems to stem from using custom blueprints in the game, making it near impossible to access your preferred loadout. However, this is a temporary workaround and should hopefully get you back into the fiery blaze of Fortune’s Keep in no time. Raven Software are aware of the issue and will offer an official fix to Warzone players in the near future.

How to fix Warzone Pacific crashing issues on PS4 & PS5 – Dexerto
How to fix Warzone Pacific crashing issues on PS4 & PS5 RavenSo/ActivisionRaven Software has provided a temporary solution to fix the major performance problems and issues with crashing that have been plaguing PS4 & PS5 users since the launch of Warzone Pacific. The new era of Warzone arrived with a number of big problems for PlayStation players. From broken or invisible textures to repeated crashing, it’s been hard for users to stay in a lobby for more than a game at a time without a problem. On December 8, the devs used their Trello board to let players know that they are aware of the issue and that there’s a way to get the game up and running for those who’ve had problems. How to stop Warzone from crashing on Ps4 & PS5 There’s no long-term solution to the problem yet but Raven advised players to turn off Texture Streaming while they work on a permanent fix. The devs gave some advice on the PlayStation family of consoles that could improve the situation: “Disabling texture streaming on PlayStation platforms may help alleviate some issues while we continue to investigate.” If you’re not sure how to do that, follow along with these steps: Launch Warzone on your home console – Open the options menu and scroll to the Graphics tab – Scroll down until you find On-demand Texture Streaming – Switch the setting from Standard Quality or High Quality to Disabled – Confirm the switch and let the extra stored files auto-delete. – This change may make the game look slightly different than it did before, but relying on textures that are stored natively in the game will take some of the stress off of consoles that are struggling to keep things running. The devs are clearly hunting down the source of these issues, but this change should get you back onto the battlefield in a sustainable way while they work on a more permanent fix for the game’s problems.

How to fix Warzone friends list not showing issue – Dexerto
How to fix Warzone friends list not showing issue ActivisionCall of Duty Warzone players have, once again, been running into a strange friends list issue with no players appearing online. If this has happened to you, don’t worry, there is an easy fix. Although Warzone is now in its third year on the market, new issues continue to impact the CoD BR every other day. Even with the swap to the Pacific in Season 1, that’s still the case with new bugs appearing and old glitches returning more often than ever. While some issues are more manageable, others can completely ruin the experience. The latest friends list bug certainly falls into the latter category. Players have reported disappearing friends list dating back to Modern Warfare 2019. Given Warzone runs from the same launcher on console, it’s no surprise the bug has spread to the BR. If you’ve noticed an empty friends list, fear not. Here are a few simple fixes you can try to work around the issue. How to fix Warzone disappearing friends list: Xbox & PlayStation If you’re on a console and suddenly find that your in-game friend’s list has gone blank, well, there are a few things that you can do to resolve it. The most obvious option is to use your console-specific friends list. Navigating out of the game and inviting friends on the same console can definitely help. Though this doesn’t work for friends on other systems. To fix that, the first thing you want to try is restarting your game. There’s a chance a small update went live over the past few hours, leaving you and your friends on different versions of the game. Simply restarting Warzone can help cross that off the list. If these steps still don’t resolve the problem, it’s worth checking your offline friends list. Every now and then, a random Warzone bug can force your active friends into the offline category by mistake. Even if your friends are appearing offline, you should still be able to invite them. Below is a step-by-step guide to follow in the event your Warzone friends list disappears. Check your Warzone app is fully updated. – If not, quit the game and restart. – Look through your offline friends list just in case. – How to fix Warzone friends list not working on PC If you’re on a PC, you might not need to restart the game like console players. Instead, you can always rely on applications like Discord that have Warzone integration to simply join a friend’s game that way. However, to get your actual friends list back in-game, you’ll need to follow the same steps as console players in restarting the application and making sure it’s fully updated. How to start a Regiment in Warzone As YouTuber Acez Gaming once pointed out, there is also another way to get around the friends list disappearing, and that’s to start a Regiment in-game. If you’ve not started a Regiment before, basically, you can add friends or players that you often team with to a group of favorites. As seen in the past, while the friends list might disappear, the Regiment won’t and you can still send invites that way. Scroll across to ‘Regiments’ in the Warzone friends list and start a Regiment – Use the invite button to add Activision accounts to your Regiment – Once they join, you’ll be able to invite them to Warzone games through the Regiment! – If none of these methods work to get past the friends list issue, you may have to contact Raven and Activision support directly. There could always be a larger problem at play. It’s worth keeping your eyes on social media in case others are experiencing the same bugs.

How to fix Warzone flashing screen glitch – Dexerto
How to fix Warzone flashing screen glitch ActivisionA pesky Warzone bug has reared its ugly head again, but fortunately, there is a more straightforward solution this time around. Bugs are not new to Warzone. Players recently reported a server issue on Golden Plunder that removes most of the lobby in the middle of a round. A strange Warzone pre-game lobby bug completely ruined matches at the beginning of July. Players were indefinitely stuck in a “Return to Combat Area” screen after wandering out of bounds before the game. Players already suffered from getting stuck inside walls on Fortune’s Keep or spawning in the gas. The latest bug is annoying but not game-breaking like the issues above. How to fix the Warzone flashing screen glitch Reddit user amphelman posted a clip showing a flashing light overtaking their entire screen. An immediate reaction would be to close the application and restart, but there is an even easier solution. One user said, “it will happen on any reflective surface as far as I can tell. I have seen it happen to guns, stair railings, and fences from time to time.” To fix the issue, all players have to do is switch their weapon in the create a class screen. A player tried that method and stated, “I switched to my favorite weapon and got it. Thank you.” If the issue persists in the match, you may need to do a complete restart, but changing weapons should fix the problem.

How to fix Warzone dev error 896 – Dexerto
How to fix Warzone dev error 896 ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone dev error 896, or the launcher camo glitch, is possibly the weirdest game-crashing bug of them all. Fortunately, while you can’t necessarily fix it – there’s a very easy and simple way to fully avoid it. In comparison to the notorious Warzone dev error 6039, dev error 896 feels a little sillier. While the former may require you to completely delete and re-install the battle royale, the latter doesn’t even kick you out of the application. Still, though, if you’re on edge about crashes (which have become especially problematic on console), it’s worth knowing about dev error 896 and its causes. Basically, the crash seems to be a product of trying to edit Vanguard launchers in the loadout selection screen. Here’s what to do when it happens and how to avoid it. Warzone dev error 896: the launcher camo glitch There are four total launchers in Vanguard: the M1 Bazooka, Panzerschreck, Panzerfaust, and MK11 Launcher. Dev error 896 pops up whenever you try to edit any of these launchers in your loadout gunsmith. After clicking the button to modify them, the game will freeze briefly, send you back to the main menu, and slap a “dev error 896” on your screen. How to fix Warzone dev error 896 Put simply, it doesn’t seem like this issue can be fixed by anyone but the developers themselves. Nevertheless, it’s incredibly easy to avoid: just don’t try to edit your launchers. While you won’t be able to equip any neat camos, stickers, or charms on your big-boom guns, at least you’ll be able to play the game without hassle. The dev error isn’t currently listed on Raven Software’s Trello board for known Warzone issues, so it’s unlikely a fix for dev error 896 is high on their list of priorities. So, for now, players should just steer clear of it and embrace the default skins. How to fix Warzone dev error 6039 – Dexerto
How to fix Warzone dev error 6039 ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone dev error 6039 (common_mp.fc) is popping up again with Pacific, particularly plaguing players on PS4. Here’s how to fix Warzone dev error 6039 on PS4, PS5, Xbox, and PC – solving the “content package not available” issues. Warzone’s “dev error 6039 (common_mp.fc)” is a troubling one. It crashes the entire game, making it impossible to play or even mess around with loadouts while in the main menus. While it seems that the dev error is most prevalent among PS4 players after the Pacific, Caldera update, it has existed for other systems in the past. Across all versions of the game, though, the way to solve this problem is relatively similar. Unfortunately, while fixing dev error 6039 is fairly simple, it does take some time. Here’s the best way to get back to playing. How to fix Warzone dev error 6039 on PS4 Since the issue is most prevalent on PS4, we’ll tackle that solution first. Some suggest first checking for updates, power cycling your console, or clearing up hard-drive space. Still, there seems to only be one truly effective fix: deleting the game and re-installing it. Access your PS4’s “Library” – Select Modern Warfare 2019 and delete it – Re-download MW19 from your library search and download “Warzone” from the PS Store (if you want to avoid downloading MW multiplayer) – Let the PS4 fully download the game and then get back into the action – Essentially, dev error 6039 is caused by corruption with Warzone’s files on your system. Deleting and re-installing the game thereby gives you a fresh start devoid of those built-up files. How to fix Warzone dev error on PS5, Xbox, and PC As far as solving the issue on other systems, it appears that the solution is the same across everything: delete the game and re-install it. While this is a tedious, time-consuming fix, it’s also very easy. No real worries about saved data either, since your user information CoD directly through your Activision Account anyway. How to fix Warzone dev error 5573 ActivisionA few persistent Warzone bugs continue to annoy players – no more so than Warzone dev error 5573, which affects players on console and PC. Here’s what to do if you get the error, and how to get rid of it. Cheating may be the broadest problem facing Call of Duty: Warzone at the moment, but plenty of people are also taking issue with the prominence of bugs and glitches in the game. One of the most egregious is ‘dev error 5573’, an error affecting PC and console players, forcing them to abandon their game and hope it doesn’t happen again. Thankfully, there are a few things players can do to try and solve the problem, regardless of the platform they’re playing on. Here, we’ll run through potential solutions so you can hop back into Warzone as soon as you want. Warzone ‘dev error 5573’ fixes for PC Firstly, players should ensure their PC is completely up to date. This means checking that Windows is completely updated, as this will minimize any potential compatibility issues. Read More: 10 best Call of Duty Warzone players – The first thing to try after this, if you’re a PC player, is to verify the integrity of your game files. To do this, players need to: Open Battle.net client – Select Modern Warfare, then Options, and click ‘Scan and Repair’ – Begin the Scan and allow it to finish – Implement any repairs the Scan recommends (this may happen automatically) – Restart your game – If that doesn’t work, a second fix is to update your graphics driver. To do this: Download and install Driver Easy – Run the software and click ‘Scan Now’ – Once the Scan is complete, install any updates that are recommended – Restart your game – A third option for PC players is a rebuild of your settings. To do this: Open the Run dialog on your your computer – Type ‘%USERPROFILE%\Documents’ into the text bar and click OK – Delete all files in the game folder, leaving it completely empty – Launch the application – There are more fixes players can try, if neither of the above work. A clean boot can work – meaning you restart your PC with only its essential applications functioning. This is fairly complex and time-consuming though, and will change depending on the PC you have. Warzone ‘dev error 5573’ fixes for PC and Console The following fixes have also worked on console, meaning players of any platform can give them a whirl if they’re struggling with the dev error. Being applicable on console, these fixes tend to be more simple. First, players should try changing to Warzone’s ‘Windowed’ mode. To do this: Open ‘Options’ within the Warzone application – Move over to the Graphics tab – Where it says Display Mode, changed to ‘Windowed’ – Return to your game – If that doesn’t work, players can try removing aspects of Black Ops Cold War from their selected setup. Some players, for example, have stated that switch to Modern Warfare operators can solve the issue. This is believed to eliminate compatibility issues that stemmed from the games’ merger back in December. If none of these work for you, it’s probably worth contacting Activision. The problem appears to run deep though, with players experiencing it in spite of their best efforts to avoid it.

Crashes and error screens can be incredibly frustrating for players to deal with when attempting to play their favorite games and Warzone has had its fair share of them since its release. One error screen that many players have dealt with is dev 6068 error, though it’s not often clear what exactly this means. This dev 6068 error is often linked to issues with the computer’s software, such as having a corrupt DirectX installed, rather than a hardware issue. It can be caused by a number of things but having outdated Windows, System Drivers, and non-optimal settings for your device, have all been found as causes as well. As there are multiple ways for this error to occur, there are also a few solutions that have been found to help players to fix this annoying in-game bug. Here’s some of the things that you can do to fix the dev 6068 error. How to fix dev 6068 error on Warzone Run Warzone and Modern Warfare as an administrator on your PC. – In Task Manager, set a high priority on the Call of Duty app to prevent freezes. – Download any updates for your computer’s System Drivers and make sure Windows is up to date. – Open Battle.net launcher and press ‘Scan and Repair’ in the Call of Duty options menu. – Set the Game Window to Borderless in the game’s video settings. – Deactivate any game overlays or performance monitoring apps such as Discord, Game Bar, etc. – Disable settings such as Ray Tracing and turn shaders down on Warzone. – Reinstall shaders in the graphics settings. – If all else fails, you could try reinstalling the game to prevent the dev 6068 error. – It is quite unlikely that you will need to try all of these to fix the error, but it could also be caused by a third-party application that conflicts with the Warzone application, meaning you might have to clean boot your system to solve the problem. Activision previously addressed these game crashes when they first appeared after Season 6 of Modern Warfare, revealing that they were “actively investigating” the issues with Warzone and despite resolving it for some players, it has been an ongoing problem for some.

How to fix Warzone “checking for update” bug on Xbox, PS5 and PC ActivisionSome Warzone players have found themselves to be getting stuck in a constant loop saying that the game is “checking for updates,” and we’ve got some potential fixes to help you get out of it. The “checking for updates” bug is one that has been in Warzone for months now. It’s not new, but there’s also been no permanent fix, and players on multiple platforms are suffering. It can strike at any time: some players report being booted out of lobbies after a match and getting stuck in the endless loop, while others sign on and are immediately hit with it. Fix Warzone checking for update bug on Xbox To fix the bug on Xbox, you’ll want to try a few things. Firstly, resetting your game, console and router should be tested, as these might successfully get you out of the loop and back into the game. How to fix Travis-Rilea error code in Modern Warfare 2 – Dexerto
How to fix Travis-Rilea error code in Modern Warfare 2 ActivisionModern Warfare 2 players are encountering the ‘Travis-Rilea’ error, preventing them from joining multiplayer matches. Here’s a guide on fixing the Travis-Rilea error in Modern Warfare 2. Since its drop in October 2022, Modern Warfare 2 has pulled in millions of gamers, bringing new thrills and content each season. But it’s not been all smooth sailing – players have faced some hurdles hindering their gaming experience. Modern Warfare 2 has had its fair share of hiccups from crashes on PC, Battle Pass Tokens failing to work, and the dreaded Scan and Repair error rearing its head once more. But the Travis-Rilea error has emerged as the latest thorn in the side for players, obstructing their access to the game. So, if you’ve encountered this frustrating bug, here are some workarounds for the Travis-Rilea error in Modern Warfare 2. How to fix Modern Warfare 2 Travis-Rilea error The Travis-Rilea error is caused by connection issues, meaning there could either be an issue with the Modern Warfare 2 servers or your own connection. Luckily, although it’s frustrating to be taken out of the action, there are a few things you can do to try and navigate the problem. If you’re hit by the Travis-Rilea error in Modern Warfare 2, try the following steps: Check the Modern Warfare 2 servers The first port of call when you see the Travis-Rilea error message should be to check the Modern Warfare 2 server status. This can be done from the Activision website, or on the Activision Support Twitter page. Alternatively, it could be a problem with the servers on the platform you play on, so be sure to check the PlayStation, Xbox, Battle.net, or Steam servers. Restart the console or PC Before you start fiddling around with your connection, it’s always worth trying a restart of your console or PC. Players have reported this simple trick has allowed them to access Modern Warfare 2 without the Travis-Rilea error once everything has rebooted. Change the type of internet connection If the first two steps don’t fix the problem, then switching your connection type could be the solution. Going from a wireless to a wired connection can solve the connection issues that cause the Travis-Rilea error. As a rule, a wired connection will be faster and more reliable than wireless, so it’s definitely worth making the switch if possible. Restart your router If the Travis-Rilea error persists and there’s no way of moving to a wired connection, the last resort is to restart your router altogether. We recommend unplugging the router and leaving it offline for around 30 seconds before reconnecting it. With all being well, once the connection is established, you should be able to play Modern Warfare 2 with no issues. How to fix the SnD custom match round count glitch in Black Ops 4 – Dexerto
How to fix the SnD custom match round count glitch in Black Ops 4 One Black Ops 4 glitch in particular has been affecting the competitive community more than most, with SnD custom games ending after 7 rounds, but there is finally a fix. When the game launched on October 12, players quickly noticed that Search and Destroy would end after 7 rounds no matter what, which would impact competitive matches which are first to 6 round wins. SnD public matches are played first to 4, which is likely what caused the glitch, with custom games treating 4-3 as the closest possible score, rather than 6-5. Treyarch quickly acknowledged the issue, and have now rolled out a hotfix to repair it, but it requires specific settings. When setting up the match, you can now set the round limit to unlimited, which is on the far left of the slider, and then set the round win limit to the desired number. Round Limit: Unlimited, Round Win Limit: 6 Rounds Team Envy player Bryan ‘Apathy’ Zhelyazkov was playing Search and Destroy when the hotfix was rolled out, and shows how to set the game up to avoid the glitch. It will be a relief for all competitive players that wager matches and tournaments will no longer need to be restarted once 7 rounds have been played, cutting down lots of wasted time resetting the match. As you can see in the clip, the game carried on once reaching a 5-2 round count, where it would typically have ended. There is still some other bugs affecting custom games which will hopefully be fixed soon, with a large post-launch update for Black Ops 4 expected soon.

How to fix the broken scope glitch in Warzone – Dexerto
How to fix the broken scope glitch in Warzone ActivisionWarzone players have got a quick workaround for the annoying scope glitch, where you can’t see anything but a bright white target. Here’s what you need to know. Call of Duty Warzone has cemented itself right in the upper echelon of battle royale games, right alongside Apex Legends and Fortnite. Though, despite the incredible success after less than a year, players have issues. Since the switch to integrate Black Ops Cold War, there have a number of broken weapons, invisible skins, and unlocks not working properly. This is all in addition to cheaters infesting lobbies, too. One annoying glitch comes when you use a scope like the Arial Arms 3x. When players start shooting, the scope can break, and instead of seeing players or the landscape, you see nothing. How to fix Warzone’s broken sight glitch The glitch isn’t specific to a certain weapon or type of weapon, it can happen to pretty much anything with a long-rang scope on. However, if you manage to fall victim to it, there is a quick way to fix it. As Reddit user Fake_Plastic_Peace points out, if you swap to your secondary weapon, fire off a few shots, and then switch back, your scope should go back to normal. Of course, this doesn’t fix it forever, and you might still run into the bug after using the workaround. But, it’s better to take a few seconds to fix it, rather than not being able to see for the whole game. Swap to your secondary weapon – Take a few shots and reload – Switch back to the weapon with a scope – Your broken scope should now be fixed – Comment byu/Bini_Inibitor from discussion inCODWarzone This issue isn’t the only one that some players have while using scopes. Those who play on a Xbox Series X/S or PS5 have run into a problem where their reticle flips upside down while zooming in. Read More: How to see if you’re improving in Warzone – That issue is listed on the Warzone Trello board as being investigated, but there’s nothing about the broken scope. Though, players will be hoping that both issues are fixed by the devs in the near future.

How to fix slow or huge updates for Modern Warfare & Warzone – Dexerto
How to fix slow or huge updates for Modern Warfare & Warzone ActivisionModern Warfare and Warzone received a huge update on April 8, but if you are facing a bugged update, with either huge download sizes or excruciatingly slow speeds, this could fix your problems. The update – which brings in brand new multiplayer maps, weapons and Warzone modes, went live at 7am BST/2am EDT/11pm PDT on April 8, and before long it became clear that players on all platforms were having issues with their downloads. While the actual download itself hardly goes above 10GB, players have been reporting that their updates are anywhere up to 100GB and, if not, are progressing really slowly, meaning longer wait times to get into the game. After running some tests, we’ve started to figure out the best fixes for the update bug, but they’re slightly different between console and PC, so make sure you check your corresponding platform. Fix Modern Warfare update on PS4 & Xbox For PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, the fix seems to be a simple one. Whether your download is approaching 100GB or it’s just going really slowly, our best advice is to simply restart your console. This is the fix that has been widely recommended for issues with any download on PS4 and Xbox, and that doesn’t change here, with players reporting that this is what worked for them, seeing the download size go from 100GB all the way back down to the expected 11GB. Fix Modern Warfare update on PC The fix is different for PC players who use the Battlenet client to play Modern Warfare or Warzone (though we would recommend restarting your client anyway, just in case). One solution we have found is to change your region to the Americas before starting the update. If you’re playing from a different region, such as in Europe, this may be the fix needed to get your update back to normal, though those in the Americas region may want to consider trying others to find a fix. You may find that the update will occasionally pause, and you’ll need to restart it manually, but eventually, it should get it done. Blizzard’s support account previously acknowledged these bugs with patch downloads on March 27, and it appears the problem is persisting. We’re currently investigating an issue affecting game patching, which may result in failed or slow download attempts. #BlizzCS — Blizzard CS EU (@BlizzardCSEU_EN) March 27, 2020 Players have already complained frequently about update sizes in Modern Warfare, which far exceeds 100GB as a whole, and this definitely hasn’t made some players feel any better. Infinity Ward and Activision have not yet publicly commented on a fix for the update bug, but it’s probably something they’ll look to figure out sooner rather than later.

Warzone 2 is finally upon us, and millions of players have dropped in to see what Infinity Ward has created. But, as is the case with many major new releases, Warzone 2 has seen its fair share of bugs and glitches since its launch on November 16. Fans have been unable to invite their friends to matches, while more bizarre issues have seen them instantly killed in the Gulag or falling through the floor mid-match. The latest issue being reported is an error message asking players to “purchase Modern Warfare 2 to have access to everything” when trying to start a Warzone 2 match. We’ve got tips on how to get around the issue below. How to fix “purchase Modern Warfare 2” bug in Warzone 2 If you’re playing Warzone 2 with friends that aren’t having trouble accessing the game, having them invite you to a lobby seems to prevent the error from appearing. You can do this from the ‘Friends’ tab of your console’s menu or in-game on PC. Sadly, for solo players, there is no surefire way to solve this issue but there are a few methods that have worked for other players. They are: Ensure that you have the latest version of Warzone 2 installed. – Restart the game and load back in. – Reboot your console or PC and try again. – Restart your internet connection. – The “purchase Modern Warfare 2” message appears to be caused by a glitch that tries to load players into Modern Warfare 2’s menus, even though they are looking for Warzone 2 matches. Other users that own both games have reported being randomly moved into MW2 when looking for a match. It’s likely that this bizarre message is a result of the heavy strain that Warzone 2’s servers are under in the days after launch. We’d expect the issue to resolve itself or Infinity Ward to release a fix very soon. In the meantime, players can rest assured that Warzone 2 is a strictly free-to-play title that doesn’t require Modern Warfare 2 to play. So, there’s no need to purchase MW2 if you’re just looking for a battle royale experience.

How to fix nonstop Warzone update issue on Xbox & Playstation: new workaround found – Dexerto
How to fix nonstop Warzone update issue on Xbox & Playstation: new workaround found ActivisionWhile it’s not a full-blown fix, developer Raven Software may have found a potential workaround for the Warzone update loop bugs that have been affecting console players on both PlayStation and Xbox since the game’s last patch. Lately, Warzone players on both PlayStation and Xbox have been running into a problem where the game’s updates keep installing over and over again, resulting in the players simply not being able to jump into the game. Well, if you’re one of the many people affected by this problem, there may be a solution. According to Raven Software, the developers behind the hit battle royale title, while they haven’t found an actual bug fix that will solve these issues, they have found a temporary workaround in the meantime, which they posted on Warzone’s official Trello page. Warzone update loop fix While this potential workaround might be annoying, especially for those with limited hard drive space, it does seem to be pretty easy and won’t require too many hoops to jump through. Here’s what you’ll need to do, according to Raven: Let both install – Launch the game – Go to DLC Management screen (R3) from Main menu or via Settings menu – Install both Campaign Packs, & Special Ops Packs – While this fix does seem to be working, Raven does note in the bug’s Trello card that it is still investigating these problems, meaning this may not be the surefire fix that some players have been hoping for. In fact, the card mentions that the team wants feedback on if the workaround actually works and only lists it as a “potential solution.” It’s important to point out that this means that players shouldn’t 100% expect these problems to be fixed. Still, it’s better than nothing and here’s hoping that it doesn’t take too much longer for the developers to fully fix the issue at hand rather than provide a simple workaround.

Here are all the solutions that have been found so far. With many fans queuing up to experience the latest updates for Modern Warfare and Warzone, some have been unfortunately greeted with an error after loading up the game. This memory error 13-71 has prevented some from being able to play online as usual, calling on Infinity Ward to issue a fix. Until then, players will need to work around the error in order to continue playing and one of the most proven methods requires those on Xbox and Ps4 to disconnect their console from the internet. Fix Memory Error 13-71 on Xbox One and PS4 After encountering the 13-71 notice, you will need to close the Modern Warfare application and go offline in Network settings, before opening Modern Warfare up again. Once you reach the title screen you should see a “connection failed” notice pop up, from here you will have to select ‘Go Offline’ and enter multiplayer’s offline lobby. You will now need to connect your console to the internet once again and Modern Warfare should automatically refresh, allowing you to access your game mode of choice after backing out of the offline lobby. Close Modern Warfare application – Go Offline in Network settings and relaunch game – Select Go Offline – Connect console to internet again – Leave any Regiment and block Regiment invitations – To prevent this from happening further, you should leave any Regiment you may have joined previously and block any future invitations until the issue has been patched. How to fix Memory Error 13-71 on PC As the unusual memory error has been found to be linked with players who are involved in Modern Warfare’s in-game clan system, Regiments, it was suggested that certain invitations had been causing the bug. One fix that has helped PC players to bypass the error, is to reinstall Modern Warfare on Blizzard’s Battlenet launcher and run the newly updated game on safe mode. While the game is on safe mode players should be able to fetch their online profile and leave their bugged Regiment/ block all future invitations before restarting the game as normal without any issues. Infinity Ward has revealed that they are currently working on the frustrating error and also claim that the bug will be fixed for all platforms in a future update, according to their community Trello board.

How to fix Modern Warfare 3 error: “Fetching account data from platform” in MW3 beta – Dexerto
How to fix Modern Warfare 3 error: “Fetching account data from platform” in MW3 beta ActivisionWant to fix the “Fetching account data from platform” error when trying to play the Modern Warfare 3 beta? Here is our guide on how to try and fix the issue. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 has been released to early access beta from October 6-7, after they revealed tonnes of new details through their annual CoD Next event. With millions trying to get their hands on a beta code and play the Modern Warfare 3 Beta, frustrating errors were bound to happen for some unlucky gamers. While trying to sign in and play the multiplayer beta, many players have experienced a pop-up window that appears stating: “Fetching account data from platform.” Although it looks as if the account is being loaded, players have experienced it just endlessly looping with them not being able to play. Here is our complete guide on how to fix the error if it appears when you try to sign in and play the Modern Warfare 3 beta. Call of Duty MW3 error fix: “Fetching account data from platform” The error has most likely been caused by the high traffic of fans trying to play the game at once. This has ultimately caused server connection issues since the launch. See the best ways below to fix the error: Restart the game Simply closing and restarting your game may seem obvious, but for many, it has proven to work by freshly restarting your connection to the MW3 servers. Reboot your console or PC Another easy solution is to turn off your console and PC and then turn it back on again after a few seconds. Check your internet connection It may just be your own internet connection being the problem, therefore be sure to check your own internet connection and speeds. Or if you are connecting via wifi, try using a direct ethernet connection instead. Wait till servers are less busy The main reason behind the issues is the high volume of players trying to get their hands on MW3, then try playing at a less peak time of the day in your particular area. Check the server status The servers themselves may have had further severe issues causing them to be down for maintenance for all players. It is handy to follow and check Call of Duty’s social media pages or go to Activision’s official page for server updates. These five ways have proven to be the most easiest and effective ways of solving the problems, but if not then you can try more technical solutions below: Launch with Quick Settings If the error appears, various players have reported they are able to bypass the bug by launching using Quick Settings to return to the menu from there which then gave them access to the beta. Disable VPN Not many will be using VPNs while playing games, but if you are or it’s accidentally running in the background, then make sure you turn off your third-party VPN off to stop it from interfering with gaining access to the CoD servers. Log in a support ticket If all the above steps fail and you are still left with the error message, your next best option would be to contact Activision Support directly and report the issue. As you wait for a response from Call of Duty’s support team, we would suggest occasionally trying to access the MW3 beta again and trying the methods above again. Fortunately, there are solutions. Scan and Repair has been an ongoing issue for PC players for some years now. Those who played Modern Warfare (2019) and Warzone extensively, especially in the early days, know just how bad it can get, with games frequently crashing mid-match and between rounds. While it became less problematic over time, the issue was never completely eradicated and has continued into the 2022 release of Modern Warfare 2, hampering many matches. The pre-launch update was designed to ready player installs for the full-game’s release but plenty on PlayStation found their game “broken” instead. Another reported the same problem, locked out of the title after their PS5 auto-installed the update. However, a fix was quickly identified and subsequently shared by Infinity Ward. How to fix Modern Warfare 2 Battle Pass not awarding tokens – Dexerto
How to fix Modern Warfare 2 Battle Pass not awarding tokens ActivisionCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 players are reporting that their Season One Battle Pass Tokens are not being rewarded as is intended. Thankfully, the bug has a pretty simple fix. Modern Warfare 2’s first season kicked off back on November 16, coinciding with the highly anticipated launch of Warzone 2.0. November 22 also brought the biggest post-launch patch, making adjustments to the much maligned UI, returning the CDL ruleset to private lobbies. and fixing a plethora of bugs. However, one issue that has remained relates to the MW2 Season One Battle Pass; players’ best way to level up and earn rewards. Specifically, plenty of fans have been affected by a glitch that does not reward Battle Pass Tokens as intended. Modern Warfare 2 Battle Pass Tokens not awarded On the completion of every match, players should earn progress to a Battle Pass Token, which allows them to level up the battle pass, complete tiers, and earn rewards. However, plenty have realized that it isn’t always happening and, upon earning the Battle Pass Tokens, they are left without one and a progress bar reset. One Redditor highlighted the issues: “At the end of every match, I make progress towards earning a battle pass token. Eventually it fills up and I should presumably earn a token to spend on the battle pass. But my token count doesn’t go up. It remains at zero.” Others responded to say that the issues have been affecting them as well. How to fix MW2 Battle Pass Tokens not being awarded Luckily, there does seem to be a pretty easy fix. Those that are affected by the bug should simply restart their game and load back into MW2 multiplayer. This should return their Battle Pass to normal, giving Tokens out correctly as players earn them. Unfortunately, it appears to be the only fix at the moment. It’s certainly frustrating, but it’s worth a quick restart if it means players earn their deserved in-game rewards. At the time of writing, Infinity Ward have not commented on the problems and they do not appear on the game’s dedicated Trello board. We do, though, expect a quick patch in the near future.

How to fix frustrating Modern Warfare Spec Ops re-download error – Dexerto
How to fix frustrating Modern Warfare Spec Ops re-download error ActivisionCall of Duty players frustrated with a re-install issue regarding Modern Warfare’s Spec Ops finally have a fix to help them out and if you’re looking for it, you’ve come to the right place. Previously, it had been reported that members of the game’s online community were left terribly upset by the “buggy” game mode following the game’s launch, with many being hit with a re-download error that prevented them from playing it entirely. While some had initially argued that the issue only impacted those playing on the disc version of Activision’s title, that proved not to be the case as some with the downloaded versions – bought from official online stores on console – were also experiencing similar issues. However, now a confirmed solution has emerged. Let’s take a look at what you have to do to get things back up and running for Spec Ops. Spec Ops is a mode that blends together both multiplayer and story, allowing players to come together to complete campaign missions and progress through numerous operations. Those who have experienced difficulties playing it, though, due to a re-download error now have a fix to straighten things out. The trick is to download a brand new Spec Ops pack, while canceling one of the previous updates – as shared by Reddit user RageDriver2401. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to do this. How to fix Modern Warfare Spec Ops issues Head over to your console’s online store. For example, the PlayStation Store. – From there, search Call of Duty and select the game once it’s found. – Click ‘Add Ons’ and scroll your way through the packs until you reach the Spec Ops pack, which should be 16.7GB in size. – Hit download on that pack instead of the previous 12GB update. – If you’re struggling to spot the pack in question, this image provided by RageDriver2401 should make things a little easier. The fix is being upvoted continuously by players from the Call of Duty community, with one stating: “I just downloaded the 16GB pack. It works. I had deleted the old 12GB one a couple of days ago.” Another posted: “It does. I got the 12GB once and then I got the 16GB the next day and it hasn’t happened again.” A few players in the thread also reported similar issues with the Multiplayer mode, concerning re-download errors, but it’s worth noting that this fix is specifically for Spec Ops. Hopefully, all problems of this kind will be straightened out soon.

How to fix error code 48 in Call of Duty: Warzone – Dexerto
How to fix error code 48 in Call of Duty: Warzone ActivisionWarzone has had a few different error codes that prevent players from being able to enjoy Activision’s battle royale extravaganza. This is how you can deal with the ‘error code 48’ issue. Players have to deal with Warzone obstacles on a regular basis. Invisible wall glitches and broken buy stations are just some of the issues that players have to deal with in-game, but before they can even get to the gameplay aspect, many fans of the game are stuck in the game’s main menu or even boot-up screen. Error code difficulties crop up from time to time with Goldflake, Error Code 47, and 896 being just a few different examples of them. Now, error code 48 is another problematic issue that has reared its ugly head once more. Here are a few ways to deal with this pesky predicament. Contents What is Warzone’s error code 48? – Warzone error code 48 solutions for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X & PS5 – What is Warzone’s error code 48? https://twitter.com/nokocitys/status/1471945273333239809?s=20 Error code 48 has been a regular complaint for players as of late in Warzone Pacific, and the issue crops up on the game’s very first screen to click through. It prevents anyone from even getting to the lobby screen and says: “Download has failed. Do you wish to retry?” along with the message itself, “Error code: 48.” Warzone error code 48 solutions for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X & PC This is understandably frustrating for anyone encountering it. Raven Software hasn’t officially acknowledged the error code as of yet. But we have found some methods that can help you to solve this issue. Check for an update It could very well be that your version of Warzone isn’t up to scratch. If it’s lacking the most recent update, then the game simply won’t work. Head to the game’s updates section and see if there’s an option for any new refreshes. Another thing you can do is double-check what the latest version of the game is supposed to be, then go to your console’s download notifications and see if you’ve had a recent update that corresponds to it. Furthermore, it might be that your updates are set to manual, so consider altering the settings so that they’ll download automatically. Investigate your internet connection Again, if you’re in need of the new update, it could be that the internet connection isn’t stable enough to handle it. Simply do an internet connection test on console or PC and test the strength of your connection. If it’s being troublesome, then you may need to consider contacting your internet provider or switching to a wired connection. Also, you can’t go wrong with the old turning it off and on again method. Uninstall Warzone If all else fails, then the last-ditch solution is to just uninstall Warzone altogether. It’s finicky and will obviously take some time to reinstall Warzone’s huge game file. However, sometimes things just need a hard reset to fix themselves, and it’s always worth a go as a last resort! How to fix dev errors in Warzone 2 – Dexerto
How to fix dev errors in Warzone 2 ActivisionGame crashes and server performance issues have plagued Warzone 2 since Season 3 Reloaded began. Fortuntaley, there is a simple trick to avoid the dreaded dev error message. Infinity Ward and the supporting Warzone 2 teams have had their hands full since the start of Season 3 Reloaded. On April 20, Activision announced an investigation into server issues plaguing battle royale sequel matches. A fix eventually rolled out, but not before two postponements to the World Series of Warzone. Unfortunatley, server stability issues are not new to Call of Duty, and this also applies to game crashes. Warzone 2 has had its fair share of game-crashing issues since its launch, but fortunately, there is an easy solution. How to fix a dev error in Warzone 2 On May 22, FPS content creator TheTacticalBrit unearthed a simple workaround for players experiencing a dev error. A dev error can occur for multiple reasons, including playing the game without administrative permission or if the servers go down. The issue can be especially annoying when a game crashes in the middle of a session. A glitch briefly showed a rejoin match feature in WZ2, but there is still no way to join back a game if your game crashes. WZ2 Ranked Play doesn’t currently have any protections against game crashes either, so players could potentially unfairly lose Skill Rating if they experience any issues. The TacticalBrit claimed: “If you are Dev erroring in Warzone 2, delete all your loadouts. Make new ones from scratch without blueprints or camos.” Redoing every loadout is a bit of a tedious task and could require some time to readjust every attachment tuning again, but it may be worth it to prevent more game crashes. He assured fans that this fix could prevent players from losing any unnecessary SR in Ranked Play.
