  • Get better at Black Ops 4 with these loadout tips from CoD pros Attach and Apathy – Dexerto

Get better at Black Ops 4 with these loadout tips from CoD pros Attach and Apathy Call of Duty professionals Apathy and Attach have released new videos helping players find the best weapons and perks in Black Ops 4. Apathy is the current World Champion and also won CoD Champs the last time Treyarch released a game in Black Ops 3, so he knows his way around the Black Ops series. Although he is primarily a speedy SMG player, the early dominance of ARs in Black Ops 4 has caused Apathy to create only one SMG class. He recommends using the Saug if you must use an SMG and the Dexterity perk is almost a must have on all classes. Apathy suggests the Vapr and Maddox ARs as SMG hybrids for players who still want to play fast in an AR heavy game. He suggests the ICR for use in a traditional AR role. Despite Body Armor causing controversy with how strong it was in the beta, a series of nerfs from Treyarch has caused Apathy to recommend running Stim in your gear slot. Attach is also a high speed SMG player and has won multiple titles in his career, including the 2015 CoD Championship. Read More: Black Ops 4 game settings update for Multiplayer, Zombies, Blackout – Full Patch Notes – October 14 – Unlike Apathy, Attach targeted his video more towards those looking for a class to use in public lobbies instead of competitive. He is not ready to give up on subs in Black Ops 4 and prefers to use the MX-9 and Spitfire SMGs, featuring them in his first three classes. When it comes to competitive play, Attach hinted that the ICR, Vapr, and Maddox will be heavily used. Finally, he showed off his Auger DMR set up from Black Ops 4’s new class of weapons, called Tactical Rifles. The Auger is a semi-auto weapon that eliminates players in three shots. Like Apathy, Attach was using Stim instead of Body Armor on all his classes. For in-depth guides on everything in Black Ops 4’s Multiplayer and Blackout modes, visit our extensive guide hub here.

  • Genius Warzone glide is perfect counter for airport tower campers – Dexerto

Genius Warzone glide is perfect counter for airport tower campers ActivisionWarzone players have got a genius glide trick that lets them get into the ATC Tower at Airport without being noticed too much by enemies who might be camping up top. For most Warzone players, the aim of the game is simple: rack up as many eliminations as possible but also pick up a win while you’re at it. Though, with the Verdansk map being so big, there are plenty of players who opt for the age-old tactic of camping. They just sit around, pick off one or two players, and then scoop up the win by being sneaky. For the longest time, the ATC Tower at airport has been a popular hiding spot because of how difficult it is to fight against players who have already claimed the high ground up there. Though, that might change. In the past, Warzone players have used different methods to try and combat ATC campers – including using airstrikes – but that doesn’t help if they’re not in the open part of the tower, but are rather sitting waiting at the elevator. Well, now, as Redditor bloodcorona shows, you can actually get up on top of the ATC Tower without them noticing too much, and the campers aren’t sat watching for you, you’ll catch them unaware. All you need to do is use the TV tower by the edge of the map at Gora Summit and then slide glide your way over. If you time the glide right, you’ll be ready to land just as you hit the windows at ATC, so you’ve got a free path in. Plenty of players were taken aback by the trick, with some not having a clue what slide gliding was prior to seeing it. “This is possible?” asked one. “Oh yeah I’m doing this,” added another. As noted, for the tactic to work perfectly, you’ll need the campers to not be looking your way, but how many are really going to expect someone to take the high ground from them without a vehicle? So, give it a try.

  • Genius Warzone Deployable Cover play is the perfect counter to enemy vehicles – Dexerto

Genius Warzone Deployable Cover play is the perfect counter to enemy vehicles ActivisionA Warzone player appears to have uncovered the best use of the game’s Deployable Cover equipment, employing it as a de facto barrier to abruptly stop and eliminate enemies in vehicles. As more and more content is added to Call of Duty: Warzone, players are working to understand how it all interacts and can be best used to outplay enemies. We’ve recently seen all of Vanguard’s weapons and equipment added to the battle royale, so players are still figuring out new strategies for Warzone Pacific. One player, though, has shown how the Deployable Cover Field Upgrade – originally from Modern Warfare 2019 – can be used to counter and eliminate enemies in vehicles, even those in the infamous Big Bertha trucks. Redditor ‘bLouGoo‘ shared their big-brain counter on December 31, using a Deployable Cover to devastating effect. Upon seeing an enemy in a Big Berta truck approaching, the Redditor calmly waited for them to be nearby before springing out into the road and setting up the Deployable Cover right in their path. In real life, a truck of Big Bertha’s size may be able to plough straight through a relatively small barrier but, thanks to Warzone mechanics, they are stopped abruptly and rebound upon impact, bringing them to a near-complete stop. At this point, the player is able to eliminate a now-downed opponent in the back. Had their teammates been closer, they could well have taken out the whole enemy team. Some players, even those who have been playing Warzone for considerable periods of time, were shocked to see the effect Deployable Covers have on vehicles. The Redditor also confirmed it works on all vehicles, not just Big Bertha trucks. They did also emphasise caution to any who try and emulate the trick, saying they’ve been downed a few times after not quite pulling the Deployable Cover out in time. When it’s done correctly, though, it’s a genius trick to stop any enemy vehicle in its tracks.

  • Genius idea could “revive” Call of Duty with real-life maps – Dexerto

Genius idea could “revive” Call of Duty with real-life maps ActivisionThis fan’s viral franchise-reviving idea for Call of Duty involves a partnership with Google Maps to bring maps to locations near you. While Call of Duty set the standard for blazing fast-paced multiplayer experiences, the franchise certainly lags in other areas. Notably, the scene is missing a lot of creator-inspired content. Games like Fortnite and Halo let players create their own worlds for multiplayer mayhem. Meanwhile, the CoD franchise has seen players duke it out on similarly structured or even returning maps for decades. This trend has left fans wanting more, including one player’s wild idea that puts the power into the community’s hands. Shared to Twitter/X, a player cooked up a wild collab idea — CoD and Google Maps working together to let players create their own maps. “Call of Duty should collab with Google Maps and let players design maps around their own neighborhoods,” the player proposed. “They could bring in a community voting section where players can choose maps that are put forward by creators into a real multiplayer playlist,” they continued. The idea itself was met with division, as a few of the replies liked the idea. However, many of the concerns were related to player safety with creating playable CoD maps in their local areas. The poster admitted: “Of course, in practice, it would not work, but it’s still fun to think about playing Headquarters in your own local pub.”

  • Genius Heartbeat Sensor nerf could fix Warzone’s camping problem – Dexerto

Genius Heartbeat Sensor nerf could fix Warzone’s camping problem ActivisionWarzone players are always looking for ways to counter the frustrating campers they come up against in every game, and this Heartbeat Sensor nerf could do the trick. Camping has always been an issue in Call of Duty, and always will be, but this becomes significantly more annoying when it’s in a battle royale setting. Players have come up with several ways to counter campers, including a new Field Upgrade concept and possible new equipment additions that could help scale buildings to attack campers much quicker. That said, despite suggestions from the community, eradicating the camping problem is nigh-on impossible — but that doesn’t mean some players aren’t still focused on finding ways to at least make campers’ lives harder. While Heartbeat Sensors are incredibly helpful when it comes to pushing campers, they’re possibly even handier for campers simply trying to hold a building or area. They can simply go prone, pitch up, and hold the Sensor in any direction, waiting for enemy attacks. In steps XIDan1, who has come up with a genius concept to help nerf Heartbeat Sensors and make camping buildings a harder, more scary affair. Posting to Reddit, Dan suggests Heartbeat Sensors having a battery life with a limited number of uses — in this example, around 10 before depleting the battery, forcing players to be much more strategic with their Sensor and using it only when it feels completely necessary, such as pushing a rooftop camper. If this happened, there could also be ripples throughout the rest of the Warzone meta. For example, will players be less likely to pick the crutch Ghost perk if they know Heartbeat Sensors won’t be as consistently spammed across Verdansk? Dan suggests that should the Heartbeat Sensor run out of scans eventually, you can ‘resupply’ it with an Ammunition Box, which would at least make sure they’re not completely rendered useless after a few uses. As some players point out, this isn’t the perfect concept, as it could help campers in some instances, but it’s certainly one way that devs Raven Software could look at when it comes to halting the camping problem.

  • Genius Cold War trick allows you to pick what mode you get in League Play – Dexerto

Genius Cold War trick allows you to pick what mode you get in League Play ActivisionBlack Ops Cold War players have discovered a genius trick that essentially lets you pick which mode you want to play in League Play, letting you avoid those pesky Checkmate Controls. After fans called for League Play for months, both throughout the Modern Warfare season and the opening stages of Cold War, it was finally implemented to BOCW in early 2021. Players weren’t totally impressed with the competitive mode, which didn’t have all the right weapon bans and had a few bugs, but overall it has been a positive addition to Cold War. One thing that all players can relate to, however, is finding yourself on a map or mode that you just don’t want to play. But that could all be about to change. While many players hate loading into a Search and Destroy in League Play, or have certain maps they just don’t like on some modes, it’s actually possible to find out what you’re playing before loading into it. As shown in the clip below by streamer Aroma, it’s actually pretty easy to be selective over which game mode you play. Here’s what you’ve got to do: Check the Rules tab in League Play and it will show you all the maps and modes available. – Click Find Match. – Once you’re loading into a lobby, click on Rules again. – It should only show one mode now, and that will be the mode you get. – If it’s one you don’t like or won’t play, you can back out and find a new lobby. – I may be the smartest man alive… No more SND in League Play for anyone, you’re welcome!👊 pic.twitter.com/9KzoJ1hXyr — Aroma🦉 (@Aromaa__) June 17, 2021 While we wouldn’t recommend lobby-hopping like this, a common complaint from League Play players has been frequently getting the same maps and modes. If you’re looking for more variation, this trick could be the key. As always, though, we’d suggest getting reps in on every map and mode so you can truly master them all. That way, you won’t need to worry about which mode is coming up anymore!

  • Gen.G surprise everyone with latest CoD roster move – Dexerto

Gen.G surprise everyone with latest CoD roster move MLGCall of Duty line-up, replacing Michael ‘SpaceLy‘ Schmale with Jared ‘Nagafen‘ Harrell – two weeks after making the reverse move. The final rostermania period of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 season came and went on June 20, with teams shaking up their rosters for one last time before the final two events of the year. Despite that transfer window being closed, it hasn’t stopped teams from making changes to their active rosters – with Gen.G making, perhaps, the most shocking move of all. On July 6, following the final round of CWL Pro League matches, Gen.G announced that they would be swapping their team around for the final portion of the Black Ops 4 season. “We’d like to thank @SpaceLy for joining our CoD team in the last week of the pro league and for helping us secure the 2nd seed in Group A,” they tweeted, before confirming the switch. “@Nagafen will be returning to our active roster to finish out the CWL season.” We’d like to thank @SpaceLy for joining our CoD team in the last week of the pro league and for helping us secure the 2nd seed in Group A. @Nagafen will be returning to our active roster to finish out the CWL season. — Gen.G Esports (@GenG) July 7, 2019 After pulling off a flawless week in Pro League action, including dominant wins over Envy, Elevate, and Team Heretics, SpaceLy described the surprise move as “it is what it is,” before wishing the best of luck to his former teammates. Complete new role, 1 week with shit practice in between, still 4-0. It is what it is. They making their bed now they gon’ have to lay in it. Best of luck to them. — Spacely – Mike (@SpaceLy) July 7, 2019 With the CoD community stunned by the move, FaZe Clan star Tommy ‘ZooMaa’ Papparatto asked the former Gen.G star if he had been given any reasoning behind the move. It didn’t take SpaceLy all that long to answer, responding with: “They have a better understanding of their system/teamwork with Naga.” They have a better understanding of their system/teamwork with naga — Spacely – Mike (@SpaceLy) July 7, 2019 With Gen.G confirming that they won’t be switching up their roster moving forward, Nagafen will return to the active lineup for CWL Finals in Miami on July 19, as well as CoD Champs in August. It’s unknown if SpaceLy will be tied down to the substitute position just in case of an emergency, or if he’ll be allowed to depart and join a team making an open bracket run at Miami in the hope of securing a CoD champs spot.

  • Gen.G move SpaceLy back into starting lineup for CWL Pro League – Dexerto

Gen.G move SpaceLy back into starting lineup for CWL Pro League Gen.G have made a roster change for their professional Call of Duty team ahead of their final week of matches in the CWL Pro League. On Monday, June 24, Gen.G put out a tweet announcing that substitute Michael ‘SpaceLy’ Schmale would be promoted to the starting lineup. The news comes with just one week of matches remaining for the team in the CWL Pro League – a total of four matches to be played during Week 12. According to the post, SpaceLy will be definitely be playing in those four remaining regular season matches, but his involvement in the upcoming CWL Finals and Champs remains unconfirmed for now. However, assuming that Gen.G will clinch a spot in the Playoffs, it’s likely that the team will opt to go with SpaceLy during the $1.25 million postseason tournament in Miami. UPDATE: @SpaceLy will be joining us on the active roster for our cross-division games at the @CODWorldLeague. pic.twitter.com/eO3KoRyH08 — Gen.G esports (@GenG) June 24, 2019 As for who SpaceLy will be replacing in the starting lineup, Gen.G’s tweet did not name a specific player, although a tweet put out shortly after by Jared ‘Nagafen’ Harrell confirmed it to be him. “No words, to be honest,” he tweeted. “Good luck to every team competing at cross-division these next two weeks.” no words tbh. goodluck to every team competing at cross division these next two weeks — Jared (@Nagafen) June 24, 2019 Joey ‘Nubzy’ DiGiacomo, coach of the CoD team, also put out a tweet of his own following the announcement, calling Nagafen a “great player” and asking fans to show “nothing but respect” to all the players. “Not going to make the same mistakes as last change by responding to anything,” he wrote. “Jared is a great player and he’s shown that throughout the years. There are some things that people won’t understand, but I ask that nothing but respect be shown to the players and Jared.” Not going to make the same mistakes as last change by responding to anything. Jared is a great player and he’s shown that throughout the years. There are some things that people won’t understand, but I ask that nothing but respect is shown to the players and Jared.#GenG — Gen.G Joey (@JoeyNubzy) June 24, 2019 Uncertainty now clouds Nagafen’s future going into the final phase of the Black Ops 4 CWL season. With no more roster change periods remaining, his only hope of featuring for a pro team again is if he gets promoted back into Gen.G’s starting lineup. His only other option will be to try his hand in the Open Bracket tournament at CWL Finals, where the top 16 teams will qualify for Champs. We have reached out to Nagafen for a comment about his plans moving forward. SpaceLy was first dropped from the starting lineup on March 6, replaced days later by Midnight Esports’ Dylan ‘Envoy’ Envoy ahead of CWL Fort Worth. Since that change, Gen.G have had a relatively up-and-down several months of competition, which included the CWL major tournaments in Forth Worth, London, and Anaheim. While their second-place finish at Anaheim was probably the highlight of their season so far, it was not good enough to paper over the poor 2-5 split they had in the Pro League during May, which saw them go from first place in Division A down to third. However, with their 11-7 record and a healthy two game lead over fifth-place, they are still heavy favorites to finish in the top-four and clinch a Playoff spot, and they could prove to be a very dangerous team at the CWL Finals in Miami.

  • Gen.G eliminated from CWL Championship 2019 after two stunning upsets – Dexerto

Gen.G eliminated from CWL Championship 2019 after two stunning upsets One of the favorites to place high at this year’s CWL Championship 2019 has been shockingly eliminated in the first day of Pool Play. Coming off of back-to-back Grand Finals appearances at CWL Anaheim and CWL Finals over the past two months, Gen.G entered Pool Play at Champs knowing that many people were betting on them to have a strong placement, if not win the whole thing. However, their journey to hoisting the coveted trophy ended several days early, as they were on the wrong end of two upsets at the hands of Fuego Gaming and Team WaR respectively. The two losses, coupled with two victories for fellow Pool B pro team Enigma6 Group, mathematically eliminated Gen.G from being able to finish in the top two group spots necessary to advance to the Knockout Stage. Read More: How to watch CWL Championship 2019 – As a result, the team became the highest seed ever (#2) in Call of Duty Champs history to be eliminated in the Pool Play phase of the tournament. Their first match of the day was against British side Fuego Gaming, who were one of the lowest ranked teams at Champs, having qualified by virtue of finishing 13-16th at last month’s Amateur Finals After a back-and-forth start to the series, the match got all the way to a game five Search & Destroy on Gridlock, which saw Fuego’s Harry Payne clutch up and eliminate Jared ‘Nagafen’ Harrell in a 1v1 to wrap up the victory. However, that was assuming they would take care of Team WaR, their second opponent to round off the first day of Pool Play. Read More: H3CZ pays tribute on ‘OpTic Day’ – If the players had any visions of grandeur ahead of that matchup, they were in for a very rude awakening, as WaR devastatingly demolished them in 3-0 fashion, sending Gen.G home on the very first day. Their CWL Champs run is over.#CWLPS4 | #CWLChamps pic.twitter.com/2TlDK1Dgym — Call of Duty World League (@CODWorldLeague) August 14, 2019 While the elimination comes as a major shock to Gen.G and virtually everyone watching Champs, it does give both Fuego and WaR all to play for in day two, as the two amateur teams will face each other with a spot in the Knockout Stage on the line.

  • Gen.G’s Envoy calls former org Midnight “trash” live on CWL Fort Worth stream – Dexerto

Gen.G’s Envoy calls former org Midnight “trash” live on CWL Fort Worth stream Trash talking is a staple of Call of Duty esports, and it was in full force even before the CWL Fort Worth major tournament kicked off on March 15. In the hour leading up to the first set of matches at Fort Worth, CWL caster and analyst Clint ‘Maven’ Evans hosted a session of Hot Mic, featuring eUnited’s James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks, Evil Geniuses’ Dillon ‘Attach’ Price, and Gen.G’s Dylan ‘Envoy’ Hannon. During a segment of the show, Maven asked the three players to take crack at drawing a new logo for CWL team Midnight Esports, who have been on the wrong end of a lot of jokes and roasts about their recent brand overhaul. While Clayster and Attach actually did try their best in creating a replacement logo for Midnight, Envoy, who recently played for the team in the CWL Pro League, decided to take a shot at his former org. Envoy’s drawing was no esports logo at all; it was instead the word “TRASH” written boldly atop a picture of a trashcan. The reaction of the players and Maven was exactly as you’d expect; the group laughed in amusement at how Envoy had used the opportunity to further roast his former org. Those who have kept up with CWL Rostermania recently will find it hard to blame Envoy for his stunt, considering how contentious the past few weeks had been for him and Midnight. Despite going 5-2 in the CWL Pro League, Midnight decided to dismantle their roster in favor of more experienced veteran players, which happened around the same time that they were faced with serious accusations of blackmail. There is no doubt that Envoy would love to get a crack at playing against his former org at CWL Fort Worth, especially if it comes with the chance of eliminating them from the tournament. However, with Gen.G being in Pool A and Midnight in Pool C, a meeting between the two teams, if it were to happen, would have to take place in the knockout stage of the competition.

  • Gen.G makes surprising roster change just days before CWL Fort Worth – Dexerto

Gen.G makes surprising roster change just days before CWL Fort Worth As Rostermania begins to heat up ahead ofCall of Duty roster. Gen.G have been one of the biggest surprises of the CWL Pro League thus far, managing to put together an impressive 6-1 record to top Division A. Despite the success seen from the team over their first two weeks of the Pro League, it looks as though Gen.G has decided to shake things up in a big way by moving on from the star player. While SpaceLy is surely the cornerstone of the Gen.G roster, having led them through negotiations during the entire Black Ops 4 season, even he wasn’t safe from another Rostermania surprise. “Exploring my options since the team decided it was in their best interest to replace me,” tweeted SpaceLy on March 6. • Gen.G CoD players react to shock CWL Championship 2019 elimination – Dexerto

Gen.G CoD players react to shock CWL Championship 2019 elimination MLGA number of Call of Duty players have reacted to their stunning early exit from the 2019 edition of the FPS title’s biggest event, CWL Champs. Gen.G went into the final Black Ops 4 event on the year as one of the odds-on favorites to lift the trophy on Sunday, hoping to bounce back from their grand finals defeats at CWL Anaheim and CWL Finals to finish their 2019 season on the ultimate high. The second seeds fell foul of two amateur squads in Fuego Gaming and Team WaR, losing 3-2 and 3-0 respectively, to find themselves bottom of their pool, and mathematically eliminated from the competition before the first day of competition had even concluded. In the aftermath of their shock exit from the competition, and then end of their competitive season, a number of the team’s players reacted to their losses on social media, sharing their thoughts on what could have been a dream weekend in Los Angeles, which quickly turned into a nightmare. Jared ‘Nagafen’ Harrell tweeted that he was “heartbroken” and at an “all time low” following their defeats, before thanking his squad for their season, stating: “Couldn’t have asked for better teammates throughout the year, I’m glad to have gone through all the highs and lows we had together with you guys, and I couldn’t be more proud.” couldn’t have asked for better teammates throughout the year, I’m glad to have gone through all the highs and lows we had together with you guys. sucks this is how bo4 ended, but we had great moments together and I couldn’t be more proud @Maux @MajorManiak @ColtHavok @DylanEnvoy — Jared (@Nagafen) August 15, 2019 Michael ‘MajorManiak Syzmaniak echoed his teammates thoughts, tweeting: “Truly one of the worst feelings in the world. We were scraps and nobodies at the beginning of BO4, but we banded together and became one of the best teams in the world.” “We didn’t play our best today, but we had a hell of a year and I hope everyone gets the opportunity they deserve next year. Good luck to the rest of the teams left in this tournament. What the future holds for the current Gen.G lineup remains to be seen, as next season’s franchise league is likely to major movement between players and organizations as they attempt to secure spots and rosters heading into the Modern Warfare season. Whether this roster will enter the next game as a unit is unknown, but it appears that they are all grateful for the opportunity they had this year, even if the last tournament didn’t pan out as they had hoped.

The American team faced criticism on July 3 as they announced SpaceLy would be taking Nagafen’s spot just two weeks after making the reverse move. Following this change, Nubzy suggested that it was unfair for the organization was called unprofessional and cynical for doing something no one else had. He said that this was an intended move and that Gen.G are: “The first team to take advantage of this”. “This” being using an active professional player as a substitute. The discussion followed on from Nubzy’s argument that subs weren’t taken seriously at all in 2019, with multiple teams – such as 100 Thieves and OpTic gaming – using their coaches to fill the sub role. However, Gen.G have taken advantage of this extra position on the roster, using it as a tool for rotating the squad, based on the form of individual players. Much like any traditional sports team would do. .@JoeyNubzy on the way teams used substitutes in the CWL this year. pic.twitter.com/T2tZThhkEg — THE COD REAPER | Lion  (@vLionMan) July 9, 2019 Nubzy claimed that more teams will follow suit and take advantage of substitutions in the future. “Next year, your favorite professional players are getting swapped out when they have bad series,” he said. Some fans took this final statement as a hint that the Call of Duty League will follow in the steps Activision’s other franchise league, the OWL, and allow teams to make substitutions mid-series. Poklane on Reddit said: “Pretty interesting little thing he says at the end, he heavily implies that next year you’ll be able to sub players in and out every series.” However, Nubzy has since confirmed that his statements were not supposed to foreshadow any imminent changes to the rules surrounding substitutions in competitive CoD: “Just to clear up any confusion, I am not sure at all on how subs will work for next year. What I said at the end was more of an example of subs in every other since work.” Last updated 12:33 ET, July 10, 2019.

  • Gen.G address “heartbreaking” controller malfunction in CWL Finals loss to eUnited – Dexerto

Gen.G address “heartbreaking” controller malfunction in CWL Finals loss to eUnited MLGPopular esports organization Gen.G have released an official statement expressing their disappointment with how an equipment malfunction was handled by referees during their grand finals clash with eUnited at CWL Finals. Gen.G battled back through the losers bracket on Sunday, July 21 to secure their place in the Pro League Playoffs grand finals, taking on eUnited who had been runners up at two previous major events. Despite a dominant showing in their first best-of-five series, which saw Gen.G sweep eUnited 3-0, a controller malfunction for player Chance ‘Maux’ Moncivaez seemingly halted their momentum, with the team crumbling to a 3-0 loss in the final series. Frustrations were raised after reporting the issue to a referee during the first Hardpoint map of the second series, the game continued and wasn’t restarted, despite referees forcing a replay in the first series when an eUnited player’s PS4 console suffered an issue. Now, Gen.G themselves have issued a statement on Twitter addressing the loss to eUnited, and how the situation was handled by referees and the CWL. “There’s never a good time for equipment malfunctions, least of all in the Grand Finals,” the statement reads. “One of our players drew such misfortune yesterday, immediately reporting a problem with his controller to the refs.” “The ensuing confusion was unfortunate for everyone involved and frankly heartbreaking for our players, who put everything they have into every competition. We stand with them 100% every step of the way. We will share our constructive feedback with the League separately.” Official Statement on CoD Grand Finals in Miami. pic.twitter.com/UpfNHu7TAe — Gen.G Esports (@GenG) July 23, 2019 Activision Blizzard’s Vice President of League and Event Operations Adam Apicella also discussed the issue and why they were unable to restart the match, stating that referees having to replay a match every time a player said they had a problem wasn’t feasible, stating: “We have to create rules that erase subjectivity and minimize the chance for potential cheating.” The CWL rule book also states that league-provided equipment malfunctioning could lead to a match restart after official review, but that the handbook states that peripherals are “the responsibility of the player,” and they are encouraged to have a spare – something that Maux had with him, but forgot to utilizie. Imagine referees having to restart a match every time a player said their own controller was not working. We have to create rules that erase subjectivity and minimize the chance for potential cheating. https://t.co/m5DfISeiAh — Adam Apicella (@MrAdamAp) July 22, 2019 Despite their disappointment, Gen.G made sure to congratulate eUnited on their victory, writing that their first place finish was “well deserved,” and stated they were still immensely proud of their team’s performance. Gen.G will be back in competitive action in just a few weeks, when they head to Los Angeles, California to compete in the Black Ops 4 season finale, CWL Championships.

  • Gary Vaynerchuk explains why Call of Duty League is the next big thing – Dexerto

Gary Vaynerchuk explains why Call of Duty League is the next big thing In the midst of an intense opening weekend for the launch of the Call of Duty League, Minnesota RØKKR co-owner Gary Vaynerchuk spoke with Dexerto on why he believes it will be one of the best investments he’ll ever make. Following in the footsteps of the Overwatch League, Activision successfully launched the Call of Duty League on January 24 with a homestand event in Minnesota. With 12 franchise teams gathering to compete from January 24-26, the best CoD players around the globe finally took to a stage again for the first time since the CWL Championship in August, 2019. His first significant venture into the esports industry, Vaynerchuk announced his investment into the Call of Duty League in July, 2019, and was one of the first seven franchises to be revealed. Just six months later, the popular speaker was standing inside The Armory in Minnesota as his organization hosted the very first event. Describing the sensation of finally seeing everything come together, he expressed that “it feels amazing. It feels like seven or eight years of curiosity coming to a culmination. It’s a space I’ve been watching for a long time with curiosity.” The Launch Weekend was widely considered to be a success by both the players and fans, many of whom complimented the ROKKR for being great hosts. Yet speaking with Dexerto, Gary Vee explained why he would still be just as confident in his investment if not a single person had turned up for the kickoff event. He went on to speak on the success of the Overwatch League as a catalyst that drove him further towards such a significant investment, highlighting his confidence in the new endeavor, firmly believing that the CDL could be the next major sporting league. “As somebody who grew up thinking about owning a sports team in professional football, he asserted that “much like the Major Soccer League (MLS) and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), this is kind of next up.” “I think esports is going to be like soccer and globally there will be 39-55 titles that have leagues like this. It is my hope that Call of Duty is the [equivalent of the] English Premier League. But even if it’s the Spanish League of the German League, this was a very smart investment.” When asked if he views the CDL as the next NBA, he quickly responded in saying that “the whole net, the esports category…I do.” “I believe that my minority investment in the ROKKR will eventually have a value that could be a significant reason – if the Jets ever become available – as to why I buy the New York Jets,” he explained. “This will go down as one of the best investments I’ve ever made.” Vaynerchuk’s franchise claimed back to back wins throughout the opening weekend, taking a controversial 3-1 victory over the Los Angeles Guerrillas on day one before closing out the event with a closely contested 3-1 map count over the Toronto Ultra. Hot off the heels of a groundbreaking announcement that both the Call of Duty League and the Overwatch League would be streaming exclusively on YouTube, it appears as though Gary Vee could not be more confident in the long-run for his newly-minted franchise.

  • Gaming insider drops major hint on potential MW4 reveal date – Dexerto

Gaming insider drops major hint on potential MW4 reveal date Fans of Call of Duty have been eagerly waiting for news about Modern Warfare 4, and it looks like a reveal could be coming soon. While the 2019 installment of the Call of Duty series has not yet been confirmed yet, the multitude of leaks and rumors that have surfaced over the past few months strongly suggest that it will be Modern Warfare 4. Still, with the end of May fast approaching, fans have been getting restless about the lack of any formal announcement or reveal about the next game. With several prominent CoD YouTubers having been invited to Activision’s studios in Los Angeles, many expected the reveal to have taken place on Thursday, May 16, but instead were given an in-depth look at the upcoming Call of Duty Mobile game. However, a gaming industry insider appears to have revealed that the game could be officially announced and revealed as early as shortly after next week. 500 In the screenshot above, insider ‘Shinobi602’ can be seen saying that the press is expected to get a look at the game “next week,” which would be the week of May 20. The actual reveal of the game to the public should come in the “near future,” according to the insider, which could end up taking place before the end of May. While there’s always the chance that this insider’s information could end up being inaccurate, but his reports seem to make sense, considering that no CoD game has ever been first revealed later than in May. Shinobi does have some credibility to his name, having been an industry insider for several years and has amassed numerous relationships with developers back when NeoGAF was popular. CoD 2019 – What we know so far There are a lot of signs pointing to the reveal of Modern Warfare 4, the most recent one being the supposed trip Call of Duty YouTubers took to Activision to preview the new game. Tom ‘Syndicate‘ Cassell took a trip to California that he couldn’t go in-depth about, but many fans instantly assumed it was to Activision. It’s actually not even confirmed to be Modern Warfare 4 but that has been what all of the signs have been pointing to about CoD 2019. An ex-Infinity Ward developer seemingly confirmed it was going to be a Modern Warfare title by telling a Twitter user to buy brown pants after the user said he’s shit himself if the next game was MW4. With all of these rumors out there, it would be surprising to not hear anything soon. In the meantime, all we can do is wait for the inevitable announcement of what the future of Call of Duty looks like.

  • Angry gamers review bomb Modern Warfare over “anti-Russia” content – Dexerto

Angry gamers review bomb Modern Warfare over “anti-Russia” content Modern Warfare released to rave reviews from critics, however some gamers argue the latest Call of Duty unfairly represents Russia in the story, and launched a campaign to review bomb it on Metacritic. Call of Duty’s latest release arrived on October 25, and was well received by critics and fans of the series, with the game scoring an 86 out of 100 on the review aggregate site Metacritic. However, the game’s plot focusing on a Russian leader being the enemy has angered some gamers to organize a review bomb campaign, as they argue the first person shooter is using its story for “propaganda”, and accuse the writers of pushing “Russophobic” stereotypes. In the story, players face off against Russian armed forces led by general Roman Barkov, who is portrayed as a ruthless occupying force. While most critical reviews seemed to praise the games writing, some Russian Call of Duty players are outraged by what they feel is the game getting too political. Read More: Best quickscoping classes in Modern Warfare – Over on Metacritic, angry players have review bombed the FPS title, and sunk the user score down to 2.4 out of 10 which has now put the game in the red. Many of the users echo the same claim of “propaganda”, while some argue the game is factually incorrect about real life events. In the lead to MW’s release, Infinity Ward promised that the shooter would make players question their own morality, as the game would have “morally-gray” scenarios written into the story. However, many of the Russian players leaving negative reviews for the game argue that the story makes it pretty clear that Russia are the bad guys. “There is no “gray morality.” Only political propaganda. It’s painful for me, as a veteran of the war in Syria, to watch the russian soldiers put up as Nazis and maniac psychopaths,” one review read. While Call of Duty is a work of fiction, the military shooter does base some of its stories around real events, which has become a source of anger for those that argue the latest iteration of the popular FPS presents an “alternate” history. Read More: Modern Warfare devs fix Dead Silence – It is unclear if Metacritic will take down the reviews or leave them, as some of the feedback in review bombing campaigns are actually from those that bought the product. However as of the time of this article, the user score continues to be in the low negatives and Activision has not commented.

  • Gameplay of unreleased sniper rifle leaked in Modern Warfare & Warzone – Dexerto

Gameplay of unreleased sniper rifle leaked in Modern Warfare & Warzone Infinity Ward[jwplayer JuxjkwKW] Footage from a brand new weapon in Modern Warfare and Warzone, the R700 sniper rifle, has leaked thanks to Twitter user BKTOOR, after the new Season 5 Reloaded update was released. Ever since the start of Modern Warfare’s post-launch content season, fans have been clamoring for a new sniper rifle to be added to the game. Given that there was only three when the game launched, it seemed like a logical choice for a long time. Infinity Ward ended up obliging to demands during Season 4 with the release of the Rytec AMR and while fans seemed to be relatively content with the addition in the months that followed, it seems like the developer isn’t quite done with new longer-range rifles. Twitter user and COD leaker BKTOOR has released some footage of a new weapon called the R700. That name may sound familiar to Call of Duty 4 fans, as it was one of the game’s more popular snipers alongside the M40A3. Here we go 👀👇🏼 https://t.co/IMHcRIYpnS pic.twitter.com/iKFEyZy1jZ — ᴮᴷᵀᴼᴼᴿ (@BKTOOR_) August 25, 2020 The footage itself is a bit basic, but a lot more complete than the incomplete gameplay that was leaked earlier in August. The weapon doesn’t seem to have any reloading or rechambering sounds attached to it yet. It’s also worth pointing out that it doesn’t seem to have a scope attached to it, meaning the weapon could ultimately be released in the “Marksman Rifle” category in-game, rather than the “Sniper Rifle”. Read more: How to unlock FiNN LMG in MW & Warzone – Whatever category it gets released it, it’ll be interesting to see if it’s a part of the upcoming Season 6. Recently, text referencing the AA-12 shotgun was also found in-game, meaning it’s possible that that, alongside this new rifle, would be added next season, since each one always starts with two new weapons. There is, of course, the chance that it doesn’t end up making it live servers for a while; for example, gameplay of the recently-released ISO SMG was found and leaked all the way back in November, but it wasn’t added until Season 5. In fact, this isn’t even the first gameplay of this particular weapon; the same dataminer, BKTOOR, released footage of the R700 earlier in August, albeit the video looks a lot less complete than this latest one. There’s also the question of how powerful the weapon this sniper will be. Post-launch weapons in Modern Warfare are known to be a bit overpowered when compared to the ones in the base game, with then Bruen MK9 LMG and Grau assault rifle being two significant examples. Of course, we’ll just have to wait and see, since we won’t even know for sure whether or not the R700 is on its way until Infinity Ward and Activision officially announce it.

  • Game-changing Swiss K31 Warzone loadout “destroys” Kar98 meta classes – Dexerto

Game-changing Swiss K31 Warzone loadout “destroys” Kar98 meta classes ActivisionThe Kar98K has long reigned supreme in the Warzone meta, however, there is a new loadout for the Swiss K31 that apparently “destroys” the battle royale’s favorite sniper. With Verdansk being so vast, having a long-range focused loadout has been a key since day. There have been a few different top dogs in the sniper and tactical rifle department as a result, but it’s the Kar98 that has dominated for longer than most. The Kar’s dominance has come under threat a few times, especially from the Swiss K31, with some players routinely going back and forth on which one they prefer. Some content creators believed they’d settled the debate a few seasons ago, giving the advantage to the Swiss, but the Kar’s popularity has been maintained and it’s been the number one choice on WZRanked for weeks. Though, the momentum may be turning in favor of the Swiss. Popular Warzone YouTuber and sniping king IceManIsaac showed that there is a new way to set up the Swiss that might be a bit of a game-changer when it comes to sniper popularity. His attachments: the GRU Suppressor, 24.9′ combat recon barrel, 5MW Laser, and Airborne Elastic Wrap give the Swiss a better aim down sight time than the meta Kar builds, especially when you use the Scalpel reticle combined with the Royal & Kross 4x scope. “You have so much more two-shot potential (for a kill) with the Swiss without getting two upper chests shots,” the NRG content creator said. “It’s a lot more forgiving to use the Swiss and all the other stats are the same.” As a result of the build, the YouTuber believes there is “no reason” to be using the Kar instead. IceManIsaac’s Swiss Warzone loadout Muzzle: GRU Suppressor – Barrel: 24.9′ combat recon – Laser: 5MW Laser – Optic: Royal & Kross 4x scope (Scalpel reticle) – Rear Grip: Airborne Elastic Wrap – One of the knocks on the Swiss is the lack of magazine size, but as IceManIsaac points out, the weapon reloads faster as a result, given you’re putting a full clip in and not going one-by-one. The change from Sniper Scope to the Royal & Kross 4x might also be a negative for some players, but don’t be shocked if the class starts taking over Warzone sooner rather than later.

  • Game-breaking Warzone subway exploit gives easy wins in Season 6 – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone subway exploit gives easy wins in Season 6 Activision[jwplayer WGyDcVLl] A new game-breaking bug has been discovered in Warzone after the Season 6 update that essentially allows players to get free and easy wins by exploiting an issue with the new subway system, called Metro. When Season 6 launched for Warzone earlier today, it promised to bring a brand new fast-travel system to the game in the form of the Metro subway line. The system allows players to easily move between certain parts of the map as quickly as possible without having to physically run or drive there. The addition has been lauded by the community for being a positive change to the way the game functions; now, after its launch, it appears that it could be doing more harm than good. A new bug discovered by player ‘Doyley44’ allows some players to get an easy win and essentially cheat death by exploiting the new subway line. Apparently, if you’re on the train while it’s “entering” or “leaving” the station while also being inside the circle, you’ll be immune to the effects of the gas for some reason. This also means during those fast-travel animations, you can auto-heal, so whatever damage you take will be replenished. “Basically, if you get into the subway and are in the gas, the cut scene to take you to the next station is too short and it resets before your health goes all the way down,” the player explained to Dexerto. Needless to say, this is an unintended function of the new subway system, because Infinity Ward made it clear that the cars will not move if the next stop is in the gas or if there’s any fighting happening on the platform. What this means is that if you and a team play your cards right, you’ll stay alive in the gas and heal each other if need be until everyone else in the lobby dies. At the time of writing, Infinity Ward has yet to acknowledge the presence of this issue and how much it’s actually affecting matches. That said, if it continues to be exploited to the point where a lot of players are doing it, there will likely be enough complaints from the community where the devs will be made aware of what’s going on.

  • New Warzone helicopters removed as devs work on invisibility glitches – Dexerto

New Warzone helicopters removed as devs work on invisibility glitches ActivisionRaven Software has removed the new Attack Helicopters from both Verdansk and Rebirth Island in Warzone after a game-breaking bug was discovered that allowed players to go completely invisible, which in turn gave them the ability to take out enemies with ease. Despite getting a brand new update on Dec 16 that, among other things, fixed bugs and glitches with the game (including the dreaded Juggernaut exploits), it seems like a brand new one cropped up less than 24 hours later and it’s pretty major, to say the least. According to many players, a new bug in Warzone is causing certain players to become invisible if they complete certain steps. The result is that players are being killed by people who don’t appear on the map. !PSA! The attack helicopter has been temporarily removed from both #Warzone maps – Verdansk and Rebirth Island. The vehicle will return once the related issues have been fixed. The normal helicopter will remain available. — Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) December 17, 2020 The bug in question had to do with the new Attack Helicopter in-game, which has now been removed entirely while Raven works on a more permanent fix. Due to the fact that this is a major, game-breaking exploit, Dexerto will not be detailing how to trigger this bug, even though it currently can’t be done due to the aforementioned removal. It’s currently unknown how widespread this exploit was, however, it seemed to be happening to multiple streamers, including Nameless, C9 Emz, and Muddawg, who each uploaded clips of the bug to their Twitter accounts. Nothing about the characters seemed to show up, except, of course, for the gunfire. While the bug did make players completely invisible, it wasn’t completely impossible to tell where they were. As showcased in some of the clips, the invisible enemy would still show up on the radar when firing, like normal. Right now, that seemed to be the only solution but even then, it was unknown whether players could damage the invisible enemies. All in all, it makes sense why Raven was so quick to remove the Attack Helicopters in-game. While you can still deduce approximately where the invisible enemies were, it was still a game-breaking bug that needed immediate attention. Here’s hoping they find an actual fix soon.

  • Game-breaking Warzone revive bug is back and leaving players with no weapons – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone revive bug is back and leaving players with no weapons ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone players have been running into a classic glitch where they are left without a weapon, and it all seems to stem from the Stim you use to revive a teammate. The Stim has been a help, and a hindrance, to Warzone players ever since the battle royale launched last March. It helps players who are pinned down in a firefight and need a quick health boost, but it’s also been the root of an exploit that lets players stand in the gas during the endgame and pick up free wins. Though, the Season 2 changes to the gas is aimed at getting rid of that exploit. However, the tactical equipment still seems to be at the heart of a few issues in the new season, including a problem that is leaving players without guns after trying to revive a teammate. Reddit user thediegotuber showed off the problem after it happened to them during a game on Rebirth Island. Read More: Best Cold War AUG Warzone loadout – After trying to revive a teammate who was downed, and then eliminated during the revive, thediegotuber was left without a weapon – forcing them to retreat into a corner. All they had left was a stim and nothing else. This left them as a sitting duck as one enemy smelled blood in the water and eyed up a kill. It wasn’t long before the Redditor was eliminated and headed back to the main menu to search for another game because of the problem. However, they’re not the only Warzone fan to have fallen victim to the problem. “I’ve had the same thing happen with stims. It locked my ability to equip a gun or pick up any items,” said one player. “I got shot last night while grabbing armor from an armor box and a similar thing happened,” another added. One player noted that, while they’d been hit by the issue, they were able to get around it by switching weapons back and forth. The bug has been around for a while, stretching back to Modern Warfare, but it seems as if its becoming quite the annoyance again. Though, we’ll just have to wait and see if Raven get around to getting rid of it once and for all.

  • Game-breaking Warzone plane glitch drops players under the map – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone plane glitch drops players under the map ActivisionA Call of Duty: Warzone player has discovered a bug that causes the game’s drop-plane to glitch through Falcon’s Peak and under the map. Dropping from an aircraft has become a staple for the battle royale genre. Taking place at the beginning of the match, you can strategize with your teammates about where you’ll be setting up shop to start the battle. If chosen wisely, a well-thought-out drop-zone can potentially help you gain the upper hand by parachuting to a locale with incredible loot. Well, if you’re able to choose at all. One Warzone player discovered a drop-plane bug that transported them to a more corrupt and unfamiliar version of Falcon’s Peak. Warzone player discovers drop-plane exploit On April 21, 2022, Redditor ikereredik posted a video that showed the strange drop-plane bug in all its glory. The player captioned the 1-minute clip, saying: “I don’t know if this is a common bug…” as he and his teammates flew across the map towards Falcon’s Peak. As the plane approaches the mountains head-on, the team stays inside the plane. Instead of meeting a very intense and graphic fiery demise, the aircraft phases through it and transports the trio under the map. Once the player sees the glitch, they jump out of the plane and into an altered version of Falcon’s peak, teeming with corruption. After parachuting into the unknown, the player lands in a cloudy-colored prison that has a truck floating above them. The screen briefly flashes white as the colors around the combatant shift between grey and white. People began commenting on the drop-plane glitch and offering their insights on the strange phenomenon, with one person saying: “I was hoping that the plane would explode on impact, but this is more intriguing.” Another chimed in with a theory explaining how this exploit came to be and what it could mean for Warzone, saying: “I heard a youtuber speculating that Peak would be modified, and the plane flight height would be lower as a result, hence this glitch that has happened to a few people already.” “We already know Peak is getting a new look, but from the photos doesn’t look like is gonna be shorter, so maybe is just a bug with no explanation. Also, did you just discovered the extraction truck hidden below the map? nice!” While this issue could be pointing toward potential content coming to Warzone, Raven Software would still need to address this game-breaking issue relatively soon.

  • Game-breaking Warzone hack allows player to fly across the map – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone hack allows player to fly across the map Treyarch/ActivisionWarzone pro Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren encountered a player in one of his matches using an unbelievable hack that allowed them to fly across the map and teleport at will. Season 5 of Warzone is well underway, and while some players are enjoying the new content, others have departed the Call of Duty battle royale for one simple reason – hackers. With huge content creators like NICKMERCS, CouRage, and TimTheTatman all moving over to Apex Legends, it’s obvious there’s a serious problem that needs to be addressed in Warzone. Despite hacks having started in the battle royale as simple aimbots, they’ve now been designed to provide more advanced features, including pinging every player on the map, offering X-ray vision, and now, even giving players the ability to fly and teleport. New Warzone hack allows players to fly and teleport While streaming on Twitch, Warzone pro player Tommey noticed an opponent in his match fly from the top of a building down to the ground almost instantly. The encounter completely caught him off-guard, but it didn’t take him long to realize that he was witnessing a brand new hack that allows players to teleport at will and float through the air. Read More: How to play Call of Duty: Vanguard Alpha – Although it’s always frustrating to have to leave a game due to a hacker, Tommey took the whole experience quite well and even found it funny watching the player zip through the air. “Wait, I’ve never seen this hack in my life, what is that? Woah! I’ve never seen that in my life”. Tommey’s teammate zJelly was even killed by the hacker shortly after this clip, and from his perspective, it’s clear to see that the cheater can teleport whenever they want. As they’re able to instantly teleport, it’s impossible to lock them down or know where they’re coming from, so the match was completely over with them in the game. Although this hack is completely game-breaking and ruins the entire match for the whole lobby, it won’t be a surprise to any long-time Warzone players. The cheats that are being used in the battle royale are becoming more and more advanced, and slowly but surely, hackers are growing in number every day. While players continue to call for anti-cheat, it doesn’t seem like the problem is going to get any better in the near future.

  • Game-breaking Warzone glitch lets players hide under Prison – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone glitch lets players hide under Prison Activision[jwplayer ytT6udlT] A new glitch has been discovered in Warzone that is allowing players to phase out of the map and hide under Prison — completely invisible to other players in the game. Wallbreaches and out-of-map glitches have been in Call of Duty for years, but as you might imagine, this is incredibly frustrating when it occurs in Warzone and you’ve been playing upwards of 20 minutes to try and capture a victory in Verdansk. Around the launch of Season 5, players started to notice that there is a really easy glitch that allows you to get out-of-bounds and under the Prison in the south-east corner of the map — and, naturally, players have started to abuse it. Anyone who plays a lot of Warzone knows that Prison is an incredibly busy POI even at the best of times. It’s full of loot and contracts to complete, making it a great place to go if you’re looking to rack up kills and money. It also helps that there are often circles that end in or around Prison, meaning you can go there and see the game out, as long as you’ve got the patience to do so. This new glitch might prompt players to stay away for the foreseeable future, though, as you can literally hide out underneath Prison, completely invisible to everyone else, and still kill enemies through the floor. Obviously, we won’t be explaining how to do the glitch here, but it’s very easy to do and, as you can see in the below clip, there’s not much you can do if you’re targeted by someone hiding out down there. Bugs and glitches like these have been in Warzone since its launch, and Infinity Ward usually do a good job of rooting out issues such as these — and this is one they’ll want to get on as soon as possible, to avoid deterring any more players. Needless to say, we don’t advise trying to use the glitch as it is clearly not an intended feature in the game, and it’ll ruin not only your own game but everyone else’s too.

  • Game-breaking Warzone glitch lets players get under the map at Airport – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone glitch lets players get under the map at Airport ActivisionLess than a day after the launch of the new Verdansk ‘84 map in Warzone, players have already discovered a horrible glitch to get under the map at Airport and take down unsuspecting opponents. In any game, when a new season or new content arrives, bugs, glitches and exploits almost immediately jump to the forefront. With some players dedicating time to finding these exploits, they pop up pretty quickly and instantly become a problem: and this doesn’t look to be any different. While we’re only hours into the launch of Season 3 at the time of writing, the devs might have some serious work to do to make things how they should be. Posting his findings to Reddit, WeeabooDude762 showed this broken exploit, giving him a serious advantage over anyone playing around the area. As you can see, all you have to do is open the lower door on the west side of Airport and stand in the entryway. From there, you can literally clip through the door frame and fall below, giving you free reign over the tunnel area and lines of sight right into airport. To make matters worse, once the storm moves and players need to leave, they don’t get stuck — instead, they can simply use the zipline on that side of Airport to rappel up and head to safety. With this happening at Airport, we can only imagine there will be several others across the map. Hopefully, though, they won’t be discovered too soon and we can enjoy the new map in peace. No doubt this glitch is going to be used endlessly by cheaters in Warzone Season 3, so developers Raven Software will want to make sure they get a hold on it before it becomes too much of a problem.

  • Game-breaking Warzone glitch lets player see through walls – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone glitch lets player see through walls ActivisionWarzone players are no strangers to running into game-breaking bugs. Verdansk has been filled with glitches that heavily impact the game, and this latest one made a player look like a hacker. As part of playing on PC, Warzone allows a lot of customization such as FOV slider, texture quality, and even more video settings. These are fully customizable to allow a player to get the highest FPS possible on PC and allow your game to run smoother. Having good FPS will take away chances of screen tearing and will increase performance and how fast your game renders in things when playing. However, even with all these settings, there are still chances for graphics to glitch out. This latest bug could make everyone think that you are one of the hackers running around the streets of Verdansk. Warzone graphic glitch gives players wallhacks There are many ways to take on a gunfight while playing Warzone, but while this player was playing a normal game of trios with his squad they suddenly were given a huge advantage that hasn’t been seen before. In a clip posted by ‘js0uthh’, the player’s graphics started to bug out and buildings, walls, and objects started to blink in and out revealing opponents behind walls. While the walls are bugging out, you can hear the player starting to communicate with their squad that they can see the enemy and exactly where the person is running. At one point you hear them completely mindblown that this is happening because he isn’t hacking but he basically has wallhacks. It is unknown what causes this to happen but with players complaining about video settings and graphic card issues in Warzone, it is rumored to be an issue revolving around those manners.

  • Game-breaking Warzone glitch is letting players pick up guns in Gulag – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone glitch is letting players pick up guns in Gulag Infinity WardA Call of Duty: Warzone player found weapons he could pick up in the Gulag, thanks to a glitch that could be labeled as game-breaking. The Gulag is one of several novelties that Infinity Ward introduced to the battle royale genre with Warzone, giving players the ability to fight for the chance to respawn after getting eliminated. Usually, the way it works is that two players will spawn in with a predetermined class, usually featuring either a pistol or shotgun, and the user left standing gets to load back into the match. However, one player was shocked to come across a pile of weapons in his end of the Gulag, which they were able to actually pick up, equip, and use. Reddit user Kasperinoz posted a clip on March 27 showing this glitch in action. After waiting in the observation deck, they spawned into the 1v1 arena and noticed a green-level MP7 and Model 680 shotgun laying in the corner, along with $300 Cash. The player quickly picked them up, and although the video doesn’t last long enough to show what happened afterwards, both guns looked ready for use. Judging by the title of the post, the Redditor was confused as to whether this was the result of a bug or if it was actually a new feature added by Infinity Ward. Thankfully, this isn’t some secret new thing that the devs implemented in the most recent update. Instead, this is probably caused by someone dying near that area in the regular match, and their inventory, including the Cash, glitching into the Gulag. Read More: Warzone duos, squads and LTMs leaked – For those who aren’t aware, the Gulag is also a visitable location on the Warzone map, located in the lowest level of Prison, so that is definitely a possibility. However, that doesn’t mean this issue shouldn’t be concerning to players, especially since it means that anyone could be susceptible to coming up against a powerful weapon during the 1v1 fight that they themselves don’t have access to. Infinity Ward will likely want to get this patched up as soon as possible before it becomes too big of a problem and starts affecting actual competitive matches, such as Warzone Wednesday and Twitch Rivals.

  • Game-breaking Warzone glitch forces console players into an abstract hellscape – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone glitch forces console players into an abstract hellscape Activision / PixabayCall of Duty: Warzone’s console players continue to exist in purgatory. The latest game-breaking PlayStation and Xbox glitch forces gamers to re-deploy into a nightmarish landscape of broken pixels. Dying in Warzone is bad, but there’s always a chance, albeit a usually slim one, to regain once you re-deploy onto the map. In Rebirth Island, making use of your return is difficult, but critical to surviving into the end game. Unfortunately, that difficulty level seems to have been raised for console players. In a new bug, which appears exclusive to those on PlayStation and Xbox, people are finding their screens replaced by abstract hellscapes when dropping back in. Unashamedly playing on PS4, I discovered this glitch myself. It’s nauseating, frustrating, and frankly very hard to describe – so you have to see it for yourself. Console Warzone bug throws players into pixelated layer of hell console warzone is truly a spiritual experience pic.twitter.com/za6ARstxsc — théo (@TheoSalaun) February 2, 2022 As you can see in the clip, I re-deploy as my teammates are in the midst of angrily trying to rebuild our resources. Unfortunately, I was unable to be of any help… as everything but my HUD was replaced with shapeshifting, dark, hellish pixels. Stunned by the situation at hand, I struggled to explain it to my teammates: “I’m gonna throw up. You guys have no idea what I’m looking at … brother, what the f**k.” Console Warzone has not only been plagued by the absence of an FOV slider, but also by a number of annoying bugs and glitches since the release of Pacific. This has caused players to consider retirement and the latest problem is proof of why emotions are running so high. In my case, On-Demand Texture Streaming was already disabled, so all steps possible to avoid a crash had been taken. It remains unclear just what prompted this game-breaking glitch, but it was fixed by the next game. So far, Raven Software have yet to address this specific, hellish bug – but console players can hope that it’s one of the things they’re working to fix now that Season 2 was delayed for quality-assurance purposes.

  • Game-breaking Warzone gas bug hands players unfair advantage – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone gas bug hands players unfair advantage Infinity WardWarzone’s gas appears to be giving players an ‘unfair’ advantage as a game-breaking visual glitch could cost you your next match. Modern Warfare’s new battle royale mode drops 150 players into Verdansk and pushes them closer together with an enclosing circle of gas. The poisonous gas obscures vision, making it difficult to see enemies outside of the circle. However, a frustrating visual glitch is giving some players the upper hand as the map shrinks. Playing close to the edge of the safe-zone is a completely viable strategy that many look to employ across a number of battle royale titles. After all, it can lead to a handful of easy eliminations as enemy teams scramble to push through the gas. Sticking to the edges during an April 5 match, Reddit user ‘Arman276’ was gunned down as the greenish poison blocked off their line of sight to a nearby rooftop. Lacking any form of vision on the enemies, it was clear they were in an unfavorable position. Regardless, they fired away and hoped a few lucky shots would connect. Things didn’t work out as planned, and they were quickly dispatched. The vision-obscuring gas had not impacted their opponent, as the killcam revealed; leading to a completely imbalanced state of competition to close out their run. Down to the final three players in another April 5 match, Reddit user ‘Gnarkillo’ also encountered a similar issue that cost them the win. Unable to spot an enemy player through the gas, there was no telling where the final competitors were. Eventually leading to a swift demise due to a lack of vision. Watching the game-breaking bug in action though, the enemy killcam once again, appeared entirely void of any vision-obscuring gas. Not the first Warzone issue revolving around the gas, players also uncovered ways of staying in the poison forever. Developers at Infinity Ward are yet to comment on the latest bug. Make sure you’re extra-vigilant as the safe-zone continues to shrink until a patch removes the issue.

  • Warzone devs respond to broken insta-kill Famas shotgun loadout – Dexerto

Warzone devs respond to broken insta-kill Famas shotgun loadout Infinity WardWarzone Season 5 may have introduced the most powerful gun in the battle royale’s short history as players have begun to realize the true potential of a ridiculous new FR 5.56 loadout. Burst weapons have rarely had their time in the spotlight throughout Call of Duty history. Warzone has proven no different as players often go for fast-firing SMGs or devastating LMGs instead. However, there’s a new tactic that’s quickly changing that tune. The FR 5.56 Assault Rifle has been available for quite some time but never truly found its footing. With the likes of the Grau and the M4A1 dominating the meta, there was no reason to swap off for something new. However, a devastating loadout for the burst rifle could be your go-to class until a new patch is deployed. While the standard use of the weapon is decent, it won’t help you secure a victory. It’s the underbarrel attachment that appears broken in the Season 5 update. Here’s how players are using the gun for instant-kills in Warzone. Underbarrel shotguns can be attached to most ARs in Modern Warfare. They provide an alternate means of fire when enemies get a little too close for comfort. Typically, it’ll take a few shots to blast an enemy from close range with the underbarrel. But, on the FR 5.56, this damage is seemingly amplified a ridiculous amount. Opponents with full health and three armor plates in Warzone can be killed in a single shot with this combination. It’s as powerful as a perfect sniper headshot or a rocket with pinpoint accuracy, yet you can continue firing multiple times without needing to reload. From up to 15 meters, this attachment can insta-kill anyone in Warzone, according to tests from popular YouTuber ‘TheXclusiveAce.’ “I don’t think there’s any way this was intentional,” he said after reviewing the weapon. His assumption is that Season 5 improved the range for the base FR 5.56, and that buff has carried over to the underbarrel as well. Players have already been rushing to use the weapon in its broken state. From prominent streamers to competitive veterans, the loadout is already leaving its mark across Verdansk. It even featured heavily in FaZe Swagg’s Summer Invitational event. HusKerrs was able to close out five rapid kills with only five shots to secure an early lead in the competition. Infinity Ward respond to Famas glitch Infinity Ward has addressed the issue but not yet provided a clear indication of when it will be fixed. The range on the underbarrel should be decreased back to its former state and the FR 5.56 will likely fall back down the rankings once again. We’ve identified the issue with the FR 5.56 and are currently working on a fix. We’ll share more details as they become available. Thank you all for your patience. — Infinity Ward (@InfinityWard) August 17, 2020 For now though, be on the lookout for enemies trying to get a little closer than usual with an AR equipped. Your entire run might come to an end in a matter of seconds.

  • Game-breaking Warzone exploit lets you exit the map & shoot at players – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone exploit lets you exit the map & shoot at players Infinity WardWarzone players have discovered a game-breaking exploit that allows them to glitch out of the map and shoot through walls thanks to the new subway system. [jwplayer Q7ySHZq9] One of the latest additions to Verdansk is the subway system. Introduced in Season 6, the new public transport system lets players jump from one location to another in the blink of an eye. However, it’s also letting players break the game. Instead of hopping onto a train and traveling to a new area, there’s a surprising bug if you avoid the trains altogether. If you drop onto the train tracks and head towards the fog, you’ll notice something out of the ordinary. An invisible wall will try to block you from pushing up too far at most stations. The subway station at Barakett Promenade East is a different story though. Since the train tracks are layered with an electric trap, you’ll need to head to the end of the station. Vaulting over the nearby ‘Do Not Enter’ sign won’t actually give you an ‘Out of Bounds’ warning as usual. Instead, you’ll be able to roam this new space without fear of being wiped out. If you push down to the very end of the tracks at Barakett Promenade East, you’ll run straight through the fog and into a solid wall. Walking into this wall acts like Platform 9¾ from Harry Potter. Walk into it and you’ll be transported to a new world underneath Verdansk. From here, you’ll be able to see just about everything, shoot nearby enemies, and be invincible the entire time. It’s a clearly game-breaking exploit that’s sure to be patched out soon enough. For the time being, however, Infinity Ward is yet to address the issue. There’s no telling if this exploit works across all modes either. It was tested in the Warzone Rumble playlist. Though there’s a chance players could use it to their advantage in regular modes as well, so be extra cautious in this area. Unlike other glitches that allowed players through the map in previous updates, this one lets you move around a surprising amount. You can essentially explore the map from a whole new perspective. Be on the lookout for players trying to sneak out of Barakett Promenade East through the subway system. It’s sure to be a hot drop until this problem is resolved.

  • Game-breaking Warzone exploit gives Akimbo Sykov pistols 100% accuracy & no recoil – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone exploit gives Akimbo Sykov pistols 100% accuracy & no recoil ActivisionA bizarre new Call of Duty: Warzone bug is making waves as the already-OP Akimbo Sykov pistols can apparently be made 100% accurate with zero recoil if players take advantage of an exploit. Modern Warfare’s Sykov pistol became available following an April 15 update. Within hours, players were outraged by how overpowered the gun could be. Fortunately, Raven Software have already taken that feedback into account and promised changes to the gun in the Season 3 patch. That’s exciting news that most players will be happy to hear, as the Sykov can be a true menace — and that’s even without a new exploit that players have discovered can give the gun 100% accuracy and zero recoil. When you unlock all of the attachments for the Sykov, you can equip Ghost and rock two of the pistols with the Akimbo perk and turn it into a pair of full-auto, 80-round monsters. If that already sounds dangerous, just look at how it performs with the new exploit. As demonstrated by Warzone streamer Stukawaki, this exploit gives your Sykov pistols an absurd degree of accuracy. Standing a decent distance away from a wall, the streamer laughs along with his chat as the Sykov pistols unleash a barrage of bullets directly on his crosshair — refusing to budge or show any variance in bullet spray. This is already capturing the attention of fans, as well as other top players. In the replies to Stu, Tommey (one of Warzone’s highest earners and a regular feature among the monthly power rankings), responded with obvious concern: “I was just about to hop on and this is the first thing I see this morning…” As Stukawaki and various TikTok videos explain, the exploit is most easily pulled off in the Plunder playlist, but can also be done in regular modes. This potential is frightening, especially since the guns are already so lethal. While we won’t explain exactly how to do the exploit, it involves some bizarre combination of techniques while parachuting onto Verdansk. It’s not exactly clear why the glitched guns are easier to manage in Plunder or exactly how long they remain in this fully accurate state. What is clear is that the Warzone community remains very concerned. Unless this bug gets patched out as quickly as the God Mode glitch did, it might be a long week of close-quarters terrors before the Season 3 patch drops. As of yet, Raven Software have not indicated awareness of this exploit on their Trello board.

  • Game-breaking Warzone bug spawning players outside combat area – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone bug spawning players outside combat area ActivisionA frustrating Warzone bug that spawns players outside of the combat area when returning from the Gulag has returned to the Call of Duty battle royale — over two years after a similar bug first appeared. Warzone is no stranger to bugs and glitches, with the devs even admitting that with multiple game integrations, they’ve made it so “bloated” that sometimes they don’t know what is causing the bugs. This has been an issue since the game launched in March 2020, though — as evidenced by this bug — and the devs will no doubt be hoping for less of these issues with the launch of Warzone 2 in the near future. With the launch of Season 3 of Vanguard, players have started spawning in the gas again or even out of bounds when returning from the Gulag, and it’s causing a lot of frustration for players on the receiving end. — Long-time Warzone veterans will be somewhat familiar with this bug, as a similar thing was happening in the opening weeks of the game’s launch, back when Verdansk was still completely new. While sometimes you might be able to escape the gas, depending on where you spawn, it’s a frustrating experience that most often leads to death, especially in the latter stages of the game when the circle is smaller. What’s worse is there’s just nothing you can do about it — you spawn in the gas and, in some instances, well outside of the combat area, with no way of getting back into the map in time, as evidenced by the clip below. It’s not clear what exactly causes this bug. If you ever look at the minimap in the Gulag, you’ll know that Gulag ‘spots’ are dotted around the edges of the map, but that shouldn’t cause issues when spawning back in. Expect it to be acknowledged and fixed before long, as Raven seeks to weed out as many of these problems as possible.

  • Game-breaking Warzone bug returns & sends Gulag winners to their death – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone bug returns & sends Gulag winners to their death Activision / Raven SoftwareAfter the Season 4 Reloaded update dropped on July 14, Warzone has seen a resurgence of old bugs. One particularly nasty glitch has reappeared in Verdansk and is once again robbing Gulag winners of their hard-earned respawns. Despite a welcome shakeup of the current Warzone meta, Season 4’s Reloaded update has not rolled out smoothly, and remains plagued by a plethora of issues. Although Raven Software unleashed another massive ban wave that removed more than 50,000 cheaters, many in the community are skeptical of its effectiveness. And, as with any major Warzone update, the game has once again been swamped by glitches — some new and some old. In yet another case of a bug that was previously squashed making an unwelcome return, Warzone’s respawn mechanic has been completely ruined as players are once again finding themselves dropping into the deadly toxic gas outside of the safe zone after winning their Gulag fights. As word of the returning bug began to spread, one player shared their own unfortunate encounter with the broken respawns on Reddit, showing that after winning their Gulag they were promptly dropped back into the round — but far outside of the safe zone, with no chance to escape. Even before their character appeared floating over Verdansk, the player opened their map and promptly saw their icon appear at the northern edge of the playable area, which was deep inside the encroaching toxic gas at this late stage of the match. The player dropped to the ground and started making a run for safety before realizing that they were much too far away from the edge of the zone, so they simply gave up and succumbed to the toxic fumes — their Gulag win completely wasted. The Warzone community were quick to slam Activision and Raven Software over the return of yet another game-breaking bug — as they have with every other instance of a previously patched exploit making an unexpected return. “Every hour I get on this subreddit, it’s just another video of another bug,” one user complained, referring to the constant stream of posts on social media pointing out bugs and exploits that have flooded back into the game since the Reloaded update went live. At the time of writing, this particular issue hasn’t appeared on the list of items being tracked by Raven Software, but they will likely become aware of the bug sooner rather than later and patch it out of the game. This issue did appear in Warzone shortly after its initial release and was later resolved, but appears to be running rampant yet again, and will continue to do so until another fix is implemented. Until then, maybe ask your team to save some buy-back money when you head to the Gulag.

  • Game-breaking Warzone bug puts player in ‘heaven’ despite winning Gulag – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone bug puts player in ‘heaven’ despite winning Gulag Activision / Reddit: aargellaAnother frustrating Warzone glitch appears to have emerged in Season 2, seeing victorious Gulag players thrown high into the sky above Caldera and then forced to enjoy the view. Call of Duty: Warzone’s two years since launch have been nothing short of a resounding success for Activision – so successful, in fact, that we have had Warzone 2 officially confirmed and thought to be releasing in late 2022 or early 2023. However, it has undoubtedly been tarnished to some degree by a couple of major problems. The first is cheating, with hackers still present in most matches despite the launch of the RICOCHET anti-cheat. The second is the prominence of bugs and glitches, with developers Raven admitting the game is so “bloated” they don’t even know what’s causing them. A new issue, though, may just be the most bizarre we’ve seen. Shared by Redditor ‘aargella‘ on February 20, the clip shows the player stuck in the sky, hundreds of meters above Caldera, and forced to stay put and enjoy the view. They joked that they were in “heaven” and, to make the bug even more baffling, confirmed they had actually won their Gulag 1v1 and still respawned high in the sky. Another player commented it had happened to them, explaining that it occurs when teammates are in a plane and one team member wins their Gulag. The posted also said that there was no way to get down, meaning they were forced to spectate from above until their teammates died and they left the match. It’s up there with the most baffling and bizarre bugs we’ve seen in Warzone’s lifespan and will be inevitably frustrating to all who suffer it. Thankfully, the player was able to laugh about the incident. Here’s hoping Raven drop a quick patch but, given their track record, players could be sent to heaven a few more times in the coming days and weeks.

  • Game-breaking Warzone bug makes players unable to shoot weapons – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone bug makes players unable to shoot weapons ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone is technically a first-person shooter, but a frustrating new bug is making it impossible to live up to that genre – as players seem unable to shoot bullets out of their guns. A lot of things matter in a first-person shooter. Having good movement, positioning, and game sense are all key to success in an FPS, but the most important aspect of all is, unsurprisingly, how well you can shoot your gun. Unfortunately, for some Warzone players a new bug is literally taking that part of the game away. As shown by streamer ProReborn, there’s a Warzone glitch that prevents players’ guns from firing. No matter how much you click your buttons or drop and pick up your weapons, you seem stuck as a defenseless victim. Warzone bug disables players’ guns from shooting ran into a bug where I COULDNT FIRE MY DAMN GUNS?? LIKE.. HELLO??????????????? WHAT IS THIS GAME pic.twitter.com/64K72ssv28 — Nick “ProReborn” (@ProRebornYT) March 11, 2022 In ProReborn’s clip, he’s surrounded by gunfire as he tries to shoot his gun and nothing comes out. Frustrated by the continually full magazine, he drops the guns, picks them back up, and tries again – this time showing himself pressing triggers on camera. Absolutely befuddled by the situation, he decided to appeal to the nether: “Hello? Hello? I can’t fire my guns!” No response comes, as he explained that “it just stopped working.” As far as things that could stop working in an FPS, being able to shoot is probably the most unsettling one of all. For those wondering if it could ProReborn’s hardware at fault, not the game, that has to feel unlikely. As a streamer with a PC, a 2.8 K/D, and 20,453 kills in the game, one has to imagine that he’s experienced enough to take care of his controllers. In the replies, a number of players claimed they dealt with the same glitch. Unfortunately, the issue hasn’t been added to Raven Software’s list of known problems – so it seems that the devs haven’t begun working on a fix for it just yet.

  • Game-breaking Warzone bug makes attacking impossible in Payload – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone bug makes attacking impossible in Payload ActivisionWarzone Season 4 Reloaded brought over Payload, a Limited Time Mode that has aspects of multiplayer. Players are loving this mode as a way to level up weapons and get high kills as you have unlimited respawns. However this new bug makes attacking unplayable. The community has had a lot of mixed reviews but many players have said it is a great way to level up guns and get challenges completed. Payload is the first objective based game mode to reach Warzone. Players in this game mode are split into two teams of 20 in a best-of-three round match. Both teams get a chance to attack and defend but if it’s tied teams will go to a sudden death tiebreaker round. However, this latest bug will make you never want to be on the attacking side of things, as you’ll never be able to win the round. Payload glitch stops it from moving forward Waronze players that have been playing the new game mode have already run into a game-breaking bu that causes the payload to halt its movement forward, even though nothings there. To no surprise invisible barriers are causing Warzone players to lose their minds, as seen in the Reddit clip below posted by ‘daisy679’ showing the payload apparently stuck behind one. That particular location the payload is stopped is also a great place for defenders to build blockades to try and slow it down already. However, as seen in the video there’s not a barrier built by the defenders in the way — so the cargo truck should still be moving along the path. It is unclear if there was a barrier there earlier on in the game, but regardless there isn’t one there now. On top of that, the payload wasn’t being contested by the defenders, so it definitely seems like it should have been moving. It is unsure if the devs are aware of this issue as it seems most of the focus has been toward Season 5 of Warzone but players are hoping for a quick fix to this, as it completely prevents them from winning rounds on the attacking side.

  • Game-breaking Warzone bug is teleporting players around Verdansk – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone bug is teleporting players around Verdansk Infinity WardCall of Duty: Warzone players are no strangers to bugs, but a new teleportation one is catching them by surprise and suddenly making them strangers in foreign lands across Verdansk. [jwplayer br5AuoVJ] It’s hard to iron out every single bug and issue in a game, and even harder when the game is periodically receiving massive updates with new cosmetics, modes, and locations. As such, it’s no surprise that Modern Warfare and Warzone’s developers at Infinity Ward have an extensive backlog of problems they’re still trying to fix. Unlike some of the game’s earlier big bugs, like the frustrating Heartbeat Sensor glitch or “demon gun” nightmare, this teleportation one seems to have gone completely under the developers’ radar. In the clip below, a player is seen trying to break through a window in one section of the map before suddenly, practically instantaneously, being teleported across the map. It’s very surprising, very confusing, and, apparently, very new. While Infinity Ward is typically very transparent with their tasks, piling known issues into a publicly available Trello Board, this teleportation bug has not cracked the list. This could very well mean that this is a recent issue that the encumbered developers remain unaware of. As shown by Reddit’s ‘DandruffMuffin,’ they are in an attic in one of the houses atop Dam when they casually try to break through a window and escape toward the Fire Station. In what looks like a poorly spliced together series of clips, the window-breaking animation is delayed by a couple of seconds while the game’s surrounding landscape loads up. Once those smooth textures turn into real graphics, it’s revealed that DandruffMuffin is not a horrible video editor, but the subject of a new fast travel system entirely unrelated to the new Verdansk subway line. Seconds after being in a house above Dam, they are teleported hundreds of meters away from their teammate to the middle of the road near Promenade and the Hills. It’s as bizarre a bug as they get and you get that feeling very visibly from DandruffMuffin’s confused reactions. As of yet, Infinity Ward has not responded to this issue and no one seems certain about its causes.

  • Game-breaking Warzone bug is basically giving players wallhacks – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone bug is basically giving players wallhacks ActivisionA major bug in Warzone is effectively granting players the ability to see their enemy’s location through walls, thanks to a glitch with nametags appearing through certain structures. Warzone can often be like traversing a proverbial minefield. Between literal explosives planted in the ground (Proximity Mines) and enemies camping in buildings, it’s difficult to roam the streets of Verdansk in hopes of a win. But it appears that could be made much easier, thanks to a newfound bug which is quite literally granting players a wallhack of sorts. Redditor ‘ChrisBilionz’ discovered that enemy nametags were visible through walls in Verdansk, giving players some major intel on their whereabouts. Not only does this reveal the location of the player lurking behind a structure, but it also allows players to determine how close they are to the wall — based on the size of their nametag relative to the wall. In the clip, the player simply aims down sight and the enemy tag is revealed, allowing them to swoop in for an easy kill. The same bug surfaced in the early days of Modern Warfare. CoD pro, Seth ‘Scump’ Abner, stumbled upon the glitch during a scrim with rival squad, Dallas Empire — although this was subsequently patched by Infinity Ward in an update. Yet somehow, Warzone seems to be an exception to the rule, as the bug has made an unwelcomed return to Infinity Ward’s servers, but this time in their Battle Royale game. It’s unclear whether Infinity Ward are aware of the issue, but considering that there is no indication on the developer’s tracker, we can assume that it’ll be a while before a hotfix will be rolling out. So the next time you get suspiciously domed through a wall, it might be worth thinking twice about whether there’s any legitimate foul play at hand.

  • Game-breaking Warzone bug gives you a gigantic nose while shooting – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone bug gives you a gigantic nose while shooting Activision / PixabayCall of Duty: Warzone Pacific has brought a number of new and old glitches to Caldera. But the latest bug is a particularly uncomfortable one, especially for the self-conscious, since it makes you feel like you have a massive schnoz. In a first-person shooter, it’s quite easy to see what you’re aiming at. Normally, you just see your hands in front of you. When you aim down your gun’s sights, you typically only see your weapon’s scope. But you know what can interrupt that clear view of your reticle? A particularly large nose, sitting right between and below your eyes. And for it to truly intrude on your sightline, it’d need to be quite the honker. And that’s precisely what happened to Reddit’s ‘AlpacaPowerrr.’ Every time they try to ADS in Warzone Pacific, a massive, bulbous, flesh-colored object takes over literally half of the screen. It’s the first game-breaking nose in Call of Duty history. Warzone bug gives you an uncomfortable “massive nose” As you can see in the clip, every time Alpaca tries to aim, their screen is dominated by an object. The current consensus in the comments is that said object is a “massive nose,” but some have argued it could be a shoulder or misplaced finger. Regardless, the visual bug is legitimately an issue. Alpaca said “it’s impossible to play like this” and it’s easy to see why, as the nose literally covers between half and all of the gun’s reticle. How to fix Warzone’s massive nose bug At the moment, it seems like the bug isn’t restricted to any specific console. Some mentioned experiencing it on Xbox and some on PC. At the moment, all have pointed to two possible solutions for it until Raven Software deploy a fix. The consensus seems to be that you can either just reset your game a few times or, an easier fix, change your operator. One commenter said that the bug happened with Black Ops Cold War skins for them, but vanished when they swapped to Vanguard options.

  • Game-breaking Warzone bug gives any gun “zero recoil” – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone bug gives any gun “zero recoil” ActivisionA new Call of Duty: Warzone bug is allowing players to put Vanguard attachments on any gun in the game. With some “no-recoil” loadouts already discovered, JGOD and others have exposed just how game-breaking the exploit is. If you thought 10 attachments was already overkill for Call of Duty loadouts, just wait until you get shot by someone running 11 on their Warzone class. A new bug does just that, with a simple exploit letting players pile on extra Vanguard perks. As discussed in the past, Vanguard attachments like Hardscope and Tight Grip are must-haves to practically eliminate recoil. Normally, each gun can only use one of these (or its own version of them), but a new bug is changing that. Discovered by yeet and explained in a JGOD video, this new “game-breaking” exploit lets players add a second primary perks to Vanguard guns or one to Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War weapons. The results are… intimidating. New Warzone glitch blesses guns with “zero recoil” Discovered/replicated a pretty gamebreaking bug where you can get VG weapon perks on MW and CW guns as well as things like Tight Grip + Hardscope on several VG guns. @JGODYT Video out soon. Shoutout everyone who joined the private lobby to help with testing. Tight Grip AS44 ↓ pic.twitter.com/o9JzEccXiu — yeet (@yeet_FPS) February 28, 2022 As you can see in the clip from yeet, using the glitch allowed him to add Tight Grip to his AS44. The gun typically has no recoil-boosting perks available, but becomes an absolute laser with the bug’s gift of Tight Grip. Yeet explained the video, saying that he wasn’t “dragging down my mouse at all in the clip.” Considering the AS44’s natural bounciness, that precise accuracy becomes even more impressive. JGOD shows Warzone bug giving loadouts extra Vanguard attachments In JGOD’s video, he breaks down exactly what the glitch does and how you can perform it. Essentially, this bug can give you an extra attachment on any gun in the game – which will be impactful depending on the gun in question. To do this, it seems you only need to have two loadout guns, shoot a bullet with each, drop them, and then pick them back up. Doing this will give some nutty builds, like a PPSh with Gung-Ho or an AS44 with Tight Grip. At the moment, the exploit is not listed on the Raven Software Trello board for known Warzone issues, so it remains unclear when a fix will be scheduled. In the meantime, be sure to kill anyone you see briefly dropping their loadout weapons.

  • Game-breaking Warzone bug crashes the game when picking up a contract – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone bug crashes the game when picking up a contract Infinity WardWarzone players have found a game-breaking bug with Recon Contracts in the King Slayer playlist that is causing matches to randomly crash. Although Warzone has been out since March 10, Infinity Ward have introduced plenty of new playlists such as the King Slayer mode, where players hunt down the top performers, to keep the game fresh. However, there have also been some bugs and exploits found after Warzone’s updates, and one of the latest glitches revealed in the King Slayer playlist is ruining matches by kicking players out of the game. Contract bug kicks players from Warzone The issue is preventing players from picking up certain contracts around Verdansk without experiencing a game-breaking bug and being removed from the lobby. Many players such as Redditor u/Jeremy625 noticed that one Recon Contract, in particular, has been causing this problem, and it can be found on the train that was introduced in Season 5. The Warzone player revealed that he had been affected by the contract glitch even though his teammate was the one who picked it up. There were plenty of other players who claimed they had experienced a similar glitch with the Warzone train’s contracts in King Slayer, with some calling out to Infinity Ward devs to issue a fix in the next update. Another Warzone player u/rwp80 highlighted a clip of his team picking up the contract, and they ended up with the exact same result, dealing with lag spikes and eventually being removed from the match. It is unclear if this is a server bug and if it has an effect on every other player in the Warzone match, but it is still quite a game-breaking glitch regardless. Unfortunately, players will just have to try and avoid it for now, as Infinity Ward has not yet responded to this game-breaking issue in the King Slayer modes.

  • Game-breaking Warzone audio bug is punishing players for getting kills – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone audio bug is punishing players for getting kills ActivisionThe best Warzone players take advantage of audio queues to help take down enemies and pick up victories, but a new bug is preventing players from hearing after getting kills. Warzone Pacific was released on December 8, and since then there have been many issues with the game. JGOD and others have called out the devs for taking a vacation while the game is infested with glitches. One big issue that has risen is penalizing players for getting kills on Caldera and making it nearly impossible to use a headset. Warzone audio bug is ruining matches Audio has always been a huge part of Call of Duty, as players can hear where bullets are and what direction people are coming from. However, a Reddit post by ‘Putridzzz’ has the attention of the community, as they are one of many that are noticing a huge disadvantage after getting a kill in Warzone. People are reporting that after they eliminate an enemy, they can no longer hear anything for the rest of the game. People described it as being “muffled and suppressed.” One Redditor said, “Happened to me and I got a new controller and had my headphones plugged in and thought it was the audio jack messed up.” Multiple players have gone on to say this has lasted for the rest of the match, but one player thinks they have a solution. “You need to stun or flash yourself to fix it in-game.” Other Warzone players said this worked but not every time. So for now, if your audio gets muffled, you may need to get a loadout with a stun and throw it right at the ground to fix this problem.

  • Game-breaking Warzone 2 bug leaves players trapped underwater – Dexerto

Game-breaking Warzone 2 bug leaves players trapped underwater ActivisionA Call of Duty: Warzone 2 player has highlighted the ongoing issues with the game’s water combat mechanics in an alarming video, one that shows them falling victim to a run-ending underwater bug. The footage shows the player attempting to swim but ultimately becoming hopelessly trapped underwater, leading to their in-game death by drowning. This incident appears to be another feather in the cap of community discontent regarding Warzone 2’s “busted” water combat system. As previously covered, the introduction of water combat and movement in Warzone’s sequel has faced heavy criticism since its implementation, adding yet another layer of challenge to the immersive battle royale game. The community has been loud and clear with their concerns, flagging various issues in recent months, from visibility qualms and questionable underwater melee strength to unfair advantages given to submerged players. However, it hasn’t been all doom and gloom in the aquatic arena of Warzone 2. Despite the widespread issues, the water combat has led to some truly epic moments that have stunned even the most seasoned players. One such instance comes from battle royale legend Jordan ‘HusKerrs’ Thomas. Known for his stellar gameplay, HusKerrs has used the water to his advantage, pulling off an incredible 1v12 underwater clutch that had his teammates and the gaming community in awe. But despite the exciting moments it can create, the Warzone 2 community remains divided on water combat mechanics. Voicing their frustrations on Reddit, many players have expressed their growing dissatisfaction with water mechanics in Warzone 2. And now, this video clip of a drowning player, who, despite desperate attempts, could not escape the watery prison, adds weight to the community’s call for Activision to reassess its water combat dynamics. While it is yet to be seen how Activision will address this game-breaking incident, it’s clear that players are urging for changes or even the complete removal of these water features. Until then, the best advice seems to be to avoid the waterways, or you too, may find yourself helplessly submerged in the depths of Warzone 2’s troubled waters.

  • Game-breaking Vanguard bug gives players literal wall hacks – Dexerto

Game-breaking Vanguard bug gives players literal wall hacks Activision / PexelsCall of Duty: Vanguard players have discovered a new bug that rewards efficient players with actual wall hacks. The game-breaking glitch is causing concern, as it lets people keep their Glide Bomb perks after the killstreak ends. The CoD community has had a lot of issues with Vanguard recently. After a March 10 patch brought some fixes and weapon adjustments, players have discovered new exploits and complained about ‘OP’ perks. The latest concern is more game-breaking than the others, though. Essentially, it’s granting players wall hacks once they secure a Glide Bomb killstreak. When aiming your Glide Bomb, Vanguard highlights enemies on the map with red circles – regardless of whether or not they’re behind cover. As demonstrated by a player on Twitter, a bug lets you keep that enhanced visibility for the rest of the match. Vanguard bug gives CoD players wall hacks New Vanguard bug gives players wall hacks? Imagine if this happened during the Major 😳 (via: @iF0RL0) pic.twitter.com/svtr3NQXAY — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) March 16, 2022 The clip, originally shared by ‘iF0RL0,’ shows the player’s POV as they call in their Glide Bomb. You can see, during the bombing, that enemy players are marked by red circles – which are shaded differently depending on whether or not said enemies are protected by cover or not. Once the bomb ends, though, the red circles remained on F0RL0’s screen. The player proceeded to run around the map, knowing exactly where their opponents were at all times. Like I shit you not, the game GAVE me cheats pic.twitter.com/ukfQzSL0EM — 4Low (@HunterForlo) March 15, 2022 F0RL0 originally tweeted about the issue with clear surprise: “I s**t you not, the game GAVE me cheats.” An unintended participant in this game-breaking glitch, F0RL0 immediately took to Twitter to share just how ridiculous the situation was. The replies to our DexertoEsports post shared in this shock, commenting “bruh wtf” and tagging the developers in hopes of a response. Others also explained that this bug happened to them as well, some claiming it’s been around for “weeks.” With the Call of Duty League continuing qualifier matches for Major 2 this weekend, this issue is a time-sensitive one and fans are eager for Sledgehammer Games to deploy a fix.

  • Game-breaking Blackout glitch is ruining specialist weapons on Xbox – Dexerto

Game-breaking Blackout glitch is ruining specialist weapons on Xbox A new, game-breaking glitch is affecting Call of Duty: Blackout players who choose to wield different specialist weapons on the new Alcatraz map. Treyarch deployed the new Alcatraz map and mode at the beginning of April, adding new life to the Blackout battle royale portion of Black Ops 4. However, problems with game-breaking bugs still remain and are majorly affecting players to the point where they are unable to play matches as normal as should be possible. Alcatraz specialist weapons glitch In a post to the Black Ops 4 subreddit, user Hey_its_Iceman, showcased their video of the newly discovered issue that has players fully focused on the ground rather than their opponents. While wielding the Sparrow bow, Hey_its_Iceman has their view firmly shifted to the floor. The player attempted to respawn themselves in a bid to address the issue but it only seemed to get worse. After the first respawn, the user was still left looking at the ground. Yet, after the second attempt, Hey_its_Iceman was still looking towards the floor but had their view shifted a few meters upwards – giving them an out-of-body experience as they could see their character model without a head. Not just a rare error Other Reddit users shared their stories of similar misfortunes with the locked to the floor view glitch – pointing out that it may have something to do with the specialist weapons. “I had this happen to me too. Was all set up, just got the sparrow, changed to my other weapon then that glitch happened. I thought my controller had broke but nope its the game – you can’t fix it. I just had to quit, you can’t do anything,” commented TimeLordAlex. Read More: Top 20 highest earning Call of Duty pros – Another was surprised to see that the issue was happening to others, adding: “This happened to my friend in a game of Alcatraz the other day too. Thought it was a one in a million glitch on his Xbox, surprised to see it’s a real issue.” The Call of Duty developer has already added plenty of new content to their spin on the battle genre yet. However, Blackout is still seemingly plagued with bugs – despite the team stating that they are working on addressing at least some of them, especially in regards to Alcatraz. Yet, it remains to be seen if Treyarch deploys a fix for this specific issue at any point. Considering affected players have all reported that they are on Xbox, the developer may just focus solely on this particular console rather than also updating its PlayStation and PC counterparts.

  • Game-breaking MW3 sentry gun exploit leads to emergency removal by devs – Dexerto

Game-breaking MW3 sentry gun exploit leads to emergency removal by devs ActivisionModern Warfare 3 developers have been forced to quickly remove the sentry gun from the game following the discovery of a game-breaking exploit. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has arrived, and it’s been a relatively rocky launch for Activision’s latest. The heavily criticized campaign was fortunately salvaged by “one of the most memorable” multiplayer experiences in years. For some players, however, they’re probably not going to forget the way they’ve been accumulating XP in the game with ease, thanks to an exploit in the game’s Zombie mode. Modern Warfare 3 fans were quick to find a glitch that allowed players to farm XP at an unprecedented rate. The glitch, which allowed users to farm XP at an insane pace, was picked up by the team at Activision, who rushed to disable the sentry gun from the game just hours after its discovery. The exploit involved a simple yet effective method to create unlimited sentry guns in the game’s Zombies mode. After racking up 2,000 points in the game mode, players would purchase a sentry gun from a buy station and then continue to duplicate them. To activate the exploit, players would simply hold out the sentry gun as if to place it down. They would then drop the streak from their inventory during the animation, an action that resulted in a player having two sentry guns instead of one. That exploit in itself was already game-breaking, but the process could be repeated indefinitely, allowing players to collect and place a large number of sentry guns around the map. While many players seemed to enjoy using the exploit for as long as it lasted, just as many fans were frustrated as players took to lobbies to spawn these unlimited sentry guns. The more sentry guns that appeared throughout the map, the slower the servers would become, and in many cases, players were even being dropped from the lobby as the game would freeze. The exploit that was game-breaking in more ways than one was quickly addressed by devs, and fans are now awaiting the return of the sentry gun. • Game-breaking Modern Warfare glitch lets players escape Piccadilly map – Dexerto

Game-breaking Modern Warfare glitch lets players escape Piccadilly map A game-breaking Modern Warfare bug is giving players Juggernaut-esque abilities while allowing them to stay outside Piccadilly’s combat area without taking damage. Modern Warfare has received mixed reviews since its launch two months ago. Despite restructuring the multiplayer’s progression system in favor of a season-based system, countless issues have shadowed Infinity Ward’s efforts. From latency issues to controversy surrounding skill-based matchmaking, Modern Warfare has received its fair share of criticism. While in-game bugs can often be taken with a pinch of salt, this one might just take the biscuit. While playing Infected on Piccadilly, a team full of the deadly sickness found themselves with a particularly difficult opponent to kill. Posting their discovery to the Modern Warfare subreddit, the players flocked outside of the map in a bid to take down a seemingly invincible enemy. Why were they invincible you might ask? Well, this foe managed to escape the constraints of Piccadilly’s combat area and seek refuge behind a one-way wall. Despite the team’s best efforts, they struggled to get past their opponent’s deadly R9-0 shotgun. Setting up Tactical Insertion on the map’s borders and rushing the enemy proved ineffective, since the Infected are equipped with nothing but a knife. Nonetheless, the Reddit user explained that they “managed to kill him before his Nuke went off, so we won, but this was a tad ridiculous and shouldn’t have even happened in the first place.” The fact that the opponent managed to evade the oncoming threat of the Infected for so long, exploiting a glitch which allowed them survive outside of the map, underscores the need for this bug to be fixed. This isn’t the first Infected bug to crop up in recent times, since St. Petrograd now plays host to an unexpected enemy — chairs. Both of these glitches will likely make it to the top of Infinity Ward’s snag list, given that Infected has proved itself as one of the most popular ‘lighthearted’ modes that the game has to offer. Infinity Ward certainly have their work cut out, as we look forward to the start of Activision’s inaugural Call of Duty League season in 2020.

  • Game-breaking Modern Warfare glitch lets you keep shooting forever – Dexerto

Game-breaking Modern Warfare glitch lets you keep shooting forever Infinity WardA devastating Modern Warfare glitch has been uncovered that allows shotguns to be fired at an infinite rate without ever running low on ammunition. Infinity Ward’s latest release in the Call of Duty franchise has been bogged down by a number of game-breaking issues since it’s 2019 launch. From chairs that kill you to players shooting through walls, there are some nagging bugs lying underneath the surface. The latest significant glitch stems from the Model 680 shotgun and shockingly allows players to fire the weapon endlessly without running out of ammunition. While testing out slug rounds on the particular shotgun, Reddit user ‘Dinjur’ stumbled upon a plethora of issues impacting the weapon. “When you equip slug rounds with the Model, the reload animation becomes very weird, you can only reload one at a time,” he explained while demonstrating how the gun could only be reloaded a single slug at a time. The animation would simply cut off as each slug was placed into the weapon. They explained how holding down the reload button would fix the issue but obviously that requires a constant, manual input. “However, that’s not the worst part about this glitch,” he continued. “If you empty out the magazine, you’ll be stuck in an endless reload animation.” Even after switching weapons and rotating back to the shotgun, the weapon would instantly start up a reload animation and continue trying to insert a fresh slug into the gun on repeat. While this bug means that you can’t refill the gun to it’s maximum capacity, it does provide infinite ammo as the reloaded slugs don’t appear to chew through your regular haul of rounds. Demonstrating just how powerful the glitch can be, it turns out that due to the newfound glitch, you can continue firing the weapon endlessly as the reload bug carries on without dwindling away at your reserves. There’s no indicating when a fix for the issue might be on the way, though they pleaded for the developers at Infinity Ward to “please fix this bug.” For the time being, if you see someone bringing a Model 680 into battle, there’s a good chance they could be looking to exploit the glitch, so try to keep your distance.

  • Game-breaking Modern Warfare glitch gives player literal ‘wallhacks’ – Dexerto

Game-breaking Modern Warfare glitch gives player literal ‘wallhacks’ Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has had its fair share of bugs since release, but this could be the worst of the bunch as a player literally sees through walls in online multiplayer. Modern Warfare has encountered its fair share of issues since release. From problems with the game’s spawn logic and footstep audio issues, to weapon balancing and player hitbox setbacks, Infinity Ward have had plenty of hurdles to jump over since launch. With Activision’s Call of Duty League set to kick-off in the new year, the developers will have been working around the clock to amend the above issues while pushing out new content as part of their season-based content structure. Amid all of the above hiccups that require patching, the forthcoming CDL getting underway and pushing out the largest free content drop in history in a matter of days, the last thing Infinity Ward need is yet another bug! Wallhacks in Modern Warfare? Reddit user, Al24lo, posted a video of their discovery to the Modern Warfare subreddit. While playing a variety of maps, the player discovered that they could see through walls in certain parts of the map. The player initially showcased the glitch while playing Domination on Modern Warfare’s newest map, Shoot House. When navigating their way through the map, Al24lo found that they could see their teammates and distant textures through walls. The issue was not limited to just one map, since the player subsequently tested the bug on both Gun Runner and St. Petrograd, respectively. Although no reports of the wall-hacking glitch have surfaced from console, it is likely that the issue is related to a combination of the player’s PC hardware components and the map’s textures failing to load. Infinity Ward have their work cut-out The only report remotely close from console was when CoD pro, Seth ‘Scump’ Abner, encountered a bizarre glitch which revealed his opponent’s nametag through a set of closed doors versus Dallas Empire. Read more: Modern Warfare bug turns player ‘invincible’ – With Season 1 around the corner, Infinity Ward will be looking to patch any form of wall-hacking before players flock into the servers to check out the free content on December 3. Given the developer’s response to feedback thus far, it is likely that Ashton Williams and Joe Cecot will be hot on the heels of any exploit that gives players an advantage in Modern Warfare.

  • Game-breaking Modern Warfare feature shows bomb defuses through walls – Dexerto

Game-breaking Modern Warfare feature shows bomb defuses through walls A bizarre feature has been discovered in Modern Warfare‘s S&D mode, allowing players to see when the bomb is being defused from almost anywhere on the map, leaving everyone confused whether it is intentional or not. Following its official release on October 25, Modern Warfare has been subject to praise and criticism in equal measure. As with most new releases, a number of issues have been found, including glitches with players’ aim to seeing players’ nametag through solid objects. Now, less than a week after the game’s official launch, there is another issue to add to the ever-growing list of snags in Modern Warfare. Testing the ‘glitch’ while playing Search and Destroy on Arklov Peak, pro player for Atlanta FaZe, Michael ‘MajorManiak’ Szymaniak, discovered that you could notice when the enemy is defusing the bomb in a post-plant situation. New to Modern Warfare, there is an icon that appears above the bombsite with a timer (that gradually fills as the bomb nears detonation) encompassing it. The icon is available to those defending the bombsite to allow players to gauge their distance away from the bomb. However, the FaZe pro caught sight of a red line that emerges on the icon when an opponent is attempting to defuse the bomb. don’t even gotta check bombs now with this sick new feature (red line when someone starts defusing) it seems like this was intentional but it has zero place in competitive. just another fix we need ASAP pic.twitter.com/V6qt3TEFMP — FaZe Maniak (@majormaniak) October 30, 2019 Perhaps implemented to cater for players new to Search and Destroy, the icon would clearly have implications for competitive play, given the significant advantage this provides to players defending the bombsite in a post-plant scenario. This issue is especially pertinent, given that Search and Destroy will be a game mode of choice in the official Call of Duty League ruleset for the 2020 season. Fellow pro, Rasim ‘Blazt’ Ogresevic, has also noticed the feature. There’s a glitch where you can know if someone’s defusing the bomb from anywhere on the map :joyful::joyful: these dev designers kill me man — rasim (@Blazt) October 30, 2019 It is unclear whether this feature is intended or whether it is another bug that needs addressing by Infinity Ward in an upcoming update. Nonetheless, should the indication of an enemy defusing be an intentional feature, competitive players far and wide will be looking to toggle or ban this from the CDL ruleset entirely.

  • Game-breaking Modern Warfare bug allows you to see through smoke – Dexerto

Game-breaking Modern Warfare bug allows you to see through smoke A new bug has been discovered in Call of Duty community has had a few days to get their hands on Infinity Ward’s latest in the FPS franchise. While numerous updates have already been rolled out and the developers have outlined their focus for the near future, some game-breaking bugs have still slipped through the cracks and this might be the most damaging yet. In an October 31 clip, Reddit user ‘Alexredmoz’ showcased how one of the deployable killstreaks in Modern Warfare allows players to peer through smoke grenades and spot the enemy. Tied with the Personal Radar as the most easily attainable killstreak in the game, the Shield Turret can be earned with a mere three kills in a row. While relatively weak on paper, a new unintended function could see it widely used until the next patch. Just ensure that you set the turret in a better position than the player in the following clip. The turret has to be manually utilized, however as the recent clip highlighted, the shielded sections of the turret are able to see through the effects of smoke on any given map. Quickly panning left to right while a smoke grenade is active, could allow you to pick off any advancing enemies by surprise. With smoke grenades prevalent throughout objective-based game-types such as Search and Destroy and even Headquarters, there’s no denying how devastating this bug can be. Especially when thermal scopes are taken into account. For the first time in franchise history, thermal scopes are no longer able to counter the effects of smoke grenades. An “intentional” design decision, as it currently stands this newly discovered turret bug is the only way to nullify smoke. This was an intentional change made by the team as a move towards a more realistic approach. This is not a bug. — David Mickner (@DavidMickner) October 25, 2019 Fortunately, Infinity Ward has been quick to issue fixes for a number of controversial issues since the release of Modern Warfare, and the developers have been engaging with professional players online to ensure that community feedback is taken into consideration. While this bug remains active, keep your wits about you and try to remember that enemies might still be able to see you through smoke grenades.

  • Game-breaking Modern Warfare bug lets players under Shoothouse map – Dexerto

Game-breaking Modern Warfare bug lets players under Shoothouse map A bizarre new bug has been discovered in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which allows players to get under the multiplayer map Shoothouse. A number of Modern Warfare’s multiplayer maps have been criticized as overly large and complex, featuring too many lanes and camping spots. Shoothouse was added by Infinity Ward as a smaller, three-lane map to try and replicate the success of past Call of Duty maps, a number of which were designed to be three-lane. However, there appears to be a new glitch on Shoothouse, making some games unplayable. Attention was drawn to the bug on December 14 by one Reddit user, who stated that: “Level 55 ‘HN’ abusing under the map glitch on Shoothouse… Please share for visibility so this can be patched ASAP.” The clip shows the player in question running down the cargo crates side of Shoothouse, before they are killed by an unseen enemy. However, the final killcam then reveals that there is a level 155 seemingly under the map, killing players from a completely invulnerable position. The game chat quickly established that the player was cheating, and agreed to report them. The game’s final scoreboard shows that the player in question racked up 49 kills, a large portion of which presumably came from their blatant cheating. As the Reddit user stresses in their post, it is particularly important that Infinity Ward patch the exploit quickly, give the fact that Shoothouse 24/7 is one of Modern Warfare’s most popular playlists. At the time of writing there has been no official response from Infinity Ward, but we expect to see a patch added promptly.

  • Game-breaking Modern Warfare 2 XP glitch levels up while you’re sleeping – Dexerto

Game-breaking Modern Warfare 2 XP glitch levels up while you’re sleeping ActivisionA new game-breaking Modern Warfare 2 XP glitch allows you to rake in huge gun levels while not even playing the game. Here’s how to execute the useful bug. Modern Warfare 2 has officially launched, delivering one of the most long-awaited Call of Duty titles in recent years. As with any CoD title, MW2 players have rushed to level up their weapons and rank in order to get all the skins and attachments they desire. Now, one CoD content creator has discovered an incredibly easy method to rake in the XP while not having to play the game. MW2 player discovers easy XP glitch YouTuber B Man posted a video on November 2 of their discovery of a glitch that racks up huge amounts of XP for specific weapons. In order to execute the bug, you’ll need someone to play with you, either a buddy or just a secondary account to begin the process. Make sure they are in your party, then follow the steps below. Open Cooperative game mode – Select Low Profile then click Deploy – Pick up the weapon you want to rank up quickly – Enable God Mode, then complete just two of the objectives – Head to the third objective, then wait in a corner for as long as you want – Complete the mission and see how much XP you got – The longer you wait to complete the mission, the more XP for your weapon you’ll collect. Mr B ended up going from level one to level 12 on the RPK in just one hour of waiting. So, if you have to step away for a long amount of time but still want to rank up your weapons in MW2, give this a try before going AFK.

  • Game-breaking Loadout Drop glitch is giving Warzone players easy wins – Dexerto

Game-breaking Loadout Drop glitch is giving Warzone players easy wins Infinity WardCall of Duty players have uncovered a new Warzone glitch with Loadout Drops, which can make you almost invincible in-game after the latest update. [jwplayer Q7ySHZq9] There are plenty of Buy Stations scattered across Verdansk for players to purchase killstreaks or revive their teammates using the cash they have collected so far in that match. The high-ticket item from these Buy Stations is the $10,000 Loadout Drop, which lets you and your teammates select any of your custom classes to use in-game. However, a bizarre bug has been found with this feature after Infinity Ward’s latest update, and it is making some Warzone players essentially unkillable in the late-game stages. Call of Duty streamer MRKN Stellar highlighted this glitch in one of his latest broadcasts, after making it to the final circles with a loadout drop stored in inventory. The streamer revealed that the latest Warzone update now prevents these loadout drops from killing your character when it lands on top of them but, as a result, makes it possible to glitch inside them, becoming invincible. Stellar shared a clip and explained just how devastating this glitch could be, as he and teammate continued to pick up easy kills, even with enemy cluster strikes raining down on their position. Yo @InfinityWard you thought this was a good idea? pic.twitter.com/OZI8NrSgEW — Stellar (@EthanStellar) November 2, 2020 “Yo Infinity Ward you thought this was a good idea?” he asked, suggesting that battle royale devs should consider fixing this bug in a future update. As this glitch can be extremely frustrating to deal with, particularly in the late game, many others have also called for changes to be made to the Buy Station’s Loadout Drops. It is unclear if Infinity Ward has any intention of removing this glitch or reverting the changes but they have not shown any sign of doing so on their official Trello board as of yet.

  • Game-breaking Infinite Stim glitch fixed again in Warzone – Dexerto

Game-breaking Infinite Stim glitch fixed again in Warzone ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone’s frustrating infinite Stim glitch is back in the battle royale, despite having been “fixed” multiple times in past seasons. Activision were quick to respond once again though, announcing that the issue has yet again been patched. Even with Warzone’s monumental popularity, there have been multiple invasive glitches that have threatened to affect the battle royale’s level-playing field. From the demon gun glitch to getting stuck in random textures, Infinity Ward have been quick to respond to any seriously significant bugs. Another issue, which has reared its head in past seasons, is the infinite Stim Shot glitch. As it sounds, this allows players to use the healing Stim Shot an unlimited number of times, as opposed to the one or two charges players should be able to use. This obviously skews the balance of play in favor of the Stim Shot owner, who can sit in the toxic gas and endlessly heal themselves. In this way, it can quite simply hand victories to those players abusing it. We have seen the Stim Shot issue in previous seasons of Warzone, with Infinity Ward issuing a prompt patch each time. However, previous patches have not been enough to stop it returning in Season 6. YouTuber MarleyThirteen shared a clip showing an enemy endlessly stimming while on top of one of Verdansk’s buildings. Despite being deep in the gas, they are able to consistently heal themselves and avoid a late elimination. Needless to say, any opponent who finds themself in a similar situation without a Stim Shot will be swiftly killed. Players quickly called on Infinity Ward to release a patch given the serious nature of the exploit and how it can quite literally decide the outcome of a Warzone match. The developers obliged, announcing on November 19 that an issue allowing players to use items infinitely has been fixed. We’ve resolved an issue in Warzone that resulted in infinite tactical items becoming available to some players at the start of the match. Thank you for your reporting and your patience while we worked to resolve this. #warzone — Activision Support (@ATVIAssist) November 20, 2020 Only time will tell if the next patch is enough to eradicate this particular exploit for good.

  • Game-breaking god mode in Warzone gives unlimited health – Dexerto

Game-breaking god mode in Warzone gives unlimited health ActivisionMany Warzone players have been complaining about hackers and glitches running rampant in the Call of Duty battle royale title – but now players are literally going God mode with unlimited health, and victims are losing their mind. While Warzone has been huge for the Call of Duty and wider communities, with tens of millions of players getting involved in the action including some of the top streamers in the world, there has been one common complaint from players: hackers. Though we can’t be certain that this isn’t just a glitch that is randomly affecting players, there is no doubt that it is literally game-breaking, and can ruin someone’s experience if they come up against someone that is unkillable. Given how many players have been affected by hackers with aimbots and other similar cheats, clips such as the below, posted by Lance Pitcher on Twitter, will definitely raise some eyebrows. As you can see, despite his entire squad laying relentless fire onto their enemy, Lance is unable to down the opposition player. Even after performing an assassination move on them – which seemed to be the finish needed to take them down – the enemy simply stood back up and took out Pitcher and his teammate, seemingly unphased by the ordeal. Guy in Warzone had unlimited health. Even tried to assassinate him and he lived after. I was heated😡@CallofDuty @CODLeague @charlieINTEL @DavidVonderhaar @scump @Crimsix @DashySZN @Maven @NAMELESS pic.twitter.com/64Q98J3iUg — RTL (@Refusestolose) March 31, 2020 Naturally, as anyone would be, Pitcher was clearly heated by the exchange and joins one of the many names in the CoD community imploring developers Infinity Ward to do something about the rampant hackers abusing the game in such a way. Call of Duty League commentator Clint ‘Maven’ Evans has been one of the more outspoken players calling out hackers, who has posted clips of his being attacked by aimbotters while playing. Another great day of spectating aimbotters on Warzone pic.twitter.com/2lisfdAyzO — Clint “”Maven”” Evans (@Maven) March 30, 2020 Meanwhile, OpTic Gaming Los Angeles general manager Eric ‘Muddawg’ Sanders compiled some of the greatest clips of a hacker he found in a single game, with the cheater racking up 48 kills on his way to a big win in Verdansk. Dropped 48 kills in Warzone! Just kidding, a cheater did. I clipped the craziest moments, this is insane 😂 pic.twitter.com/Dv2bWbjawK — 100T Muddawg (@Muddawg) March 23, 2020 While it’s not easy to verify the source of this issue – whether it is indeed a hacker or simply a glitch with which he somehow got lucky – there is no doubt that Infinity Ward will attempt to find a fix for this as soon as is feasibly possible. It’s not the first game to be targeted by hackers, but IW will want to do right by their player base and find a fix for this before it drives people away from the game.

  • Game-breaking God mode glitch returns to ruin Warzone Armored Royale LTM – Dexerto

Game-breaking God mode glitch returns to ruin Warzone Armored Royale LTM ActivisionFans of Call of Duty: Warzone have been left scratching their heads once again, as another ‘god mode’ glitch, giving players invincibility and invisibility, plagues the Armored Royale LTM. Warzone fans have become more than accustomed to bugs and glitches in the game, with many vocalizing their frustrations with the game’s development teams. Some accuse them of being too slow to fix problems, as well as causing more issues with unrelated patches. Hitmarkers, for example, broke following the February 6 update, which fixed the return of the infinite stim glitch. Following the merger with Black Ops Cold War back on December 16, an invisibility glitch reared its ugly head in Warzone. This enabled players to become completely hidden, all while firing and attacking enemies as normal. It was promptly patched, but an even worse glitch has now become prevalent in the Armored Royale playlist. The new glitch, noted by many Reddit users on February 6, shows players not only invisible but also invincible. On the off chance players can find and hit their invisible opponents, they then have to contend with unlimited health. It’s fair to say that it’s a game-breaking bug, plaguing the Armored Royale LTM. One player shared a clip from a late-game, jumping down a rocky outcrop for cover. They are then downed and killed by an unseen enemy. The killcam then rubs salt into the wound, showing an opponent straight ahead of the player and simply invisible. The caption claims it’s the second time that particular glitch has been encountered following the February 6 update. There were plenty of other posts, all suggesting that the glitch is particularly prevalent in Armored Royale. It’s not currently clear whether it’s plaguing other playlists, like standard modes. Certain posts about the glitch have since been removed from the Warzone subreddit, for unclear reasons. Hopefully, given the significant issues caused by the bug, we will see a swift patch from Raven Software. While helicopters were identified as a cause following the BOCW merger, it’s not currently obvious what is behind the game-breaking god mode glitch. The only thing that’s clear is that it’s worse than ever, and ruining matches for innocent players.

  • Game-breaking Famas shotgun loadout for Warzone – Dexerto

Game-breaking Famas shotgun loadout for Warzone Infinity WardThe shotgun attachment for the Famas or FR 5.56 has been ridiculously overpowered following Warzone’s Season 5 update, turning the assault rifle into a one-shot kill weapon. Here’s what you’ll need to try it for yourself. While the Famas has been a popular weapon in past Call of Duty titles, the burst-fire FR 5.56 in Modern Warfare has not been quite as devastating as previous automatic versions. However, following the Season 5 update, Warzone players have found that the Famas’ shotgun attachment, 12-Gauge Deputy, makes it the best gun in the game. This overpowered attachment was first highlighted by XclusiveAce but fellow Call of Duty YouTuber FaZe Swagg revealed a ridiculous shotgun loadout he was using to dominate Verdansk. Best FR 5.56 Shotgun loadout for Warzone The most important part of this loadout is the ’12-Gauge Deputy’ underbarrel shotgun attachment, as it was revealed that it could kill players with full plates from up to 15m away. Despite being incredibly strong at close range, as with all shotguns, the attachment falls off in longer-range fights and Swagg revealed the attachments you will need to keep the Famas viable at all times. The popular content creator recommended attachments such as the FR 24.4” Sniper Barrel, Monolithic Suppressor, and VLK 3.0x Optic to increase the weapon’s damage range. You can find the full loadout below. Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor – Barrel: FR 24.4” Sniper – Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic – Underbarrel: 12-Gauge Deputy – Ammunition: 60 Round Mags – Loadout revealed at 17:19 One flaw with the 12-gauge deputy attachment is the lack of ammo that comes with the gun, meaning that you will likely have to find resupplies or munitions boxes during your Warzone matches. This overpowered loadout might not be viable for too long, however, after Infinity Ward confirmed that they are now looking into a fix for the FR 5.56’s shotgun damage. While it is unclear just when this shotgun attachment will be patched, it is likely that Warzone players won’t have too much longer to experience the attachment at its full strength.

  • Game-breaking CoD Vanguard ‘X-Ray glitch’ uncovered days out from CDL Champs – Dexerto

Game-breaking CoD Vanguard ‘X-Ray glitch’ uncovered days out from CDL Champs ActivisionA game-breaking CoD Vanguard exploit has been uncovered just days out from the biggest Call of Duty League tournament of the year, one that gives players ‘X-ray vision’ and allows them to see through various surfaces. After a year in the spotlight, the final competitive event of the Vanguard cycle is now upon us. Ending the year with the biggest competition of them all, Champs is back across August 4-7 with a whopping $2,550,000 prize pool up for grabs. CDL teams have been battling all year round to reach this grand finale, with only eight of 12 lineups making the cut. Naturally, it’s expected to provide the fiercest competition of 2022 as the world’s top talent goes head to head one last time. However, a spanner may have just been thrown in the works as players have uncovered a crucial Vanguard exploit that could have major implications on the upcoming LAN event. CoD Vanguard X-ray glitch Posted to Reddit on August 2, just days out from the high-stakes tournament, a player showcased the ‘X-ray glitch’ in action. By aiming down sights and moving to a certain distance, various breakable surfaces seem to disappear. It’s unclear exactly how far a player has to be from either a destroyable wall, window, or the like, to trigger the bug, though even the longest sightlines are no issue for snipers. The near-three-minute video showed multiple examples of seeing enemies through surfaces across various maps, indicating the issue is widespread throughout the entire game. With each map in Vanguard designed around these breakable features, there’s very little safety left with this exploit in mind. Implications for CDL Champs 2022 Given CDL Champs is set to get underway in a matter of hours on August 4, there’s an incredibly slim chance devs are able to update and resolve this issue in time. While there is an option to disable all destructible elements in a custom game, removing windows, doors, and entire walls would completely change the flow of any given match. Especially with strategies locked in and teams having practiced all year with these features in play, removing them for Champs would be disastrous. Therefore, the likely option is to simply move ahead with the exploit in play. Teams will have to be more cautious than ever and be wary of incoming fire, even if solid walls sit between them and their opponents. For the time being, Sledgehammer Games is yet to issue a response. We’ll be sure to update you here should that change before Champs kicks off.

  • Game-breaking Black Ops Cold War splitscreen bug makes players invisible – Dexerto

Game-breaking Black Ops Cold War splitscreen bug makes players invisible ActivisionCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s split-screen multiplayer is struggling as players share a nightmarish, game-breaking bug that renders them and their opponents completely invisible. In the olden days, the problem with split-screen gameplay was solely that your friends (or, more appropriately, your enemies) could take a peek at your side of the screen and figure out where you were. Now, the extreme inverse is true: players can’t see anyone on their screen, just an assortment of floating guns. According to various reports on Reddit, it seems that the initial multiplayer match played on split-screen may work decently (albeit with hints of lag) — but things begin to deteriorate quickly. Numerous users explained that in subsequent games, their teammates and enemies would be completely invisible. While footage of this bizarre bug confirms its existence in multiplayer, players report that it also exists in Zombies modes. That’s even worse, as zombies don’t carry the guns that split-screeners are forced into using to figure out where people are in MP. As seen in the clip shared by ‘Bradwtv’ on Reddit, teammates and enemies are rendered completely invisible in this frustrating bug. Instead, only the players’ guns (and sometimes their strapped secondary weapons) can be seen floating around. Of course, when aiming down a lane, that results in getting beamed by a sea of bullets without any chance to know where exactly you’re being shot from. This makes multiplayer practically unplayable and there appears to be no permanent fix at the moment. A variety of different responses on Reddit show real differences in experiences, some with no issues on PS5 and some with even more annoying problems (‘Need2askDumbQs’ complained of “PS2 levels of terrible” graphics). Ultimately, the consensus centers on a buggy, underserved split-screen experience. Call of Duty has been home to split screen for years. While Modern Warfare’s version may not have been perfect, by all accounts it was relatively usable. In the past, split-screen gameplay paved a foundation for the FPS world — now, fans are understandably upset as the option is disregarded. Although current events make it unlikely that people are setting up split-screen parties and eating up online multiplayer lobbies together, this invisibility bug is still pressing for others. Numerous players commented explaining that they’re frustrated they can’t play together with their partner while stuck at home. At present, the sole temporary solution seems to be quitting multiplayer and zombies after each match or restarting your system. Both are unideal, so fans will be eager to find out if the developers address these issues in the coming weeks.

  • Game-breaking armor bug in Warzone makes you an easy kill – Dexerto

Game-breaking armor bug in Warzone makes you an easy kill ActivisionCall of Duty players are running into glitches in Warzone that prevents them from refreshing their armor while using the Dead Silence perk. Ever since the CoD: Warzone mode was added to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, fans of the hugely popular first-person shooter have had more ways to play than ever before. The 150-player battle royale mode has become a ruthless playground for fans who want to transition their usual 5v5 multiplayer skills into the last man standing setting. It has been pretty successful already, with over 50 million players diving in for a match, but a new issue has reared its head with using the armor plates that might turn some players away if it isn’t fixed in the near future. The pretty game-breaking issue was showcased out by Reddit user Thanos-2020 who, after using the Dead Silence perk in Warzone, was unable to add a new armor plate to their body while the perk was active. As a result, the Redditor’s firefight became even more dangerous than normal, as the character was unable to replenish their shield with another armor plate – with the animation bugging out at times and showing a floating piece of metal. Though they did manage to take down the enemies regardless of the error, plenty of other players have reported running into similar problems with Dead Silence. Some pointed out that it is clearly a bug because if you were not able to replenish your armor while using the perk, a message of some kind would no doubt be displayed on-screen – or you would see it when picking up the perk. While members of the CoD: Modern Warfare development team have been active on the subreddit in the past, responding to problems, they haven’t commented on this one. Whether or not they are aware of it and a fix is coming soon remains to be seen but players will be hoping that the issue is rectified.

  • G2’s Methodz and Heretics’ MethodZ make playful name wager ahead of CWL Pro League Qualifiers – Dexerto

G2’s Methodz and Heretics’ MethodZ make playful name wager ahead of CWL Pro League Qualifiers The pools for the CWL Pro League Qualifiers have been drawn and it looks like there might be a bit more at stake than just a spot in the Pro League this February. The 2019 season of the CWL will see the top 28 teams competing for only 12 open spots in the CWL Pro League. As if stakes weren’t high enough, two players engaged in friendly banter that could put pressure on the loser to change their in-game name. On Twitter, G2 Esports’ Anthony ‘Methodz’ Zinni noticed he and Jorge ‘MethodZ’ Bancells are set to play against each other in Group B of the CWP qualifiers and had an interesting proposition for his opponent. Even though pool play will only see the top two of the seven teams secure an automatic seed to the Pro League, G2’s Methodz suggested naming rights be on the table for the “loser.” The challenge was met with emphatic cheer from Spanish as well as NA fans, and it got even more exciting when Heretic’s MethodZ decided to chime in reply to the challenger. “I [don’t] think [you] are ready for this,” said Heretic’s MethodZ. everybody thinking this is me being cocky instead of friendly banter :rage: pic.twitter.com/bRboyMFu8K — G2 Methodz (@Methodz) January 8, 2019 The G2 Army and Heretics fans will be looking to support their teams as they enter a very contentious group with the likes of Team Envy, Lightning Pandas, Tainted Minds, Fact Revolution and the Vodafone Giants in the same pool. The exchange brought out passions from Call of Duty fans, and it got a bit out of control until the players interjected to reaffirm the good sportsmanship between the two.

  • G2 Esports set to return to CoD with pool play team for CWL Vegas – Dexerto

G2 Esports set to return to CoD with pool play team for CWL Vegas The competitive Call of Duty community scene is set to welcome back G2 Esports following the release of Black Ops 4. Sources familiar with the situation have advised Dexerto that the Spanish based organization is set to pick up a North American team for the 2018/2019 CoD World League season. G2 Esports had previously dipped their toe into the competitive CoD space during the Infinite Warfare season, but after three events where they failed to place above top 24, the project was scrapped. We’re unable to verify the complete lineup but it’s rumored it’ll be made up of former players from the Envy, compLexity and Echo Fox. Chino, Faccento, Ricky, Blazt, Decemate, and Censor have all been linked to the team for the 2018 season. The collaboration of pro points from those players will ensure the team will make pool play at CWL Vegas, which will put them with a 50% chance of qualifying for the CWL Pro League. Black Ops 4 launched on October 12 and teams are already settling into the 5v5 format for the year, however, the real work will start once the official CWL rules have been released. Twelve players were flown out to California ahead of launch to test the proposed format, with an announcement expected in the days following the game’s release. • G2 Esports drop further hints ahead of CoD announcement – Dexerto

G2 Esports drop further hints ahead of CoD announcement Competitive CoD fans are convinced that G2 Esports are planning to announce a brand new Call of Duty roster, based on mysterious clues created by the popular esports organization. G2 Esports began to post cryptic tweets on Wednesday, October 24, telling fans to “take a step back to unlock the code.” They then posted a tweet with what appears to be random letters and numbers alongside a link to their website. prs48641fhajce372usb2380hdfsdf: 25https://t.co/t3hHZsHGZ3 — G2 Esports (@G2esports) October 24, 2018 The web page shows a confidential folder labelled ‘Project Respawn’, along with images of players who have had their faces pixelated and their information redacted by a black bar. Fans immediately linked this to Call of Duty esports, as the title of the file including the word ‘respawn# could be a clear link to the respawn game modes that the G2 CoD team will be playing throughout the 2018/19 season. On the right hand side of the Project Respawn web page is a USB pen drive with “For Internal Use Only” written on it. When clicked on, an unlisted YouTube video opens with more cryptic messages, along with more pixelated pictures of players, one of which looks an awful lot like former Team Envy star Martin “Chino” Chino. Fans of Call of Duty esports will have to keep their eye on G2’s social media channels for future clues, and a full announcement in the near future.

  • G2 Esports confirm recruit of former FaZe Clan CoD player – Dexerto

G2 Esports confirm recruit of former FaZe Clan CoD player Spanish esports organization G2 Esports have announced two major roster moves for their North American based Call of Duty pro team. Anthony ‘Methodz’ Zinni and Andres ‘Lacefield’ Lacefield, formerly of FaZe Clan and Pittsburgh Knights respectively, will be joining a roster that also features existing G2 players Rasim ‘Blazt’ Ogresevic, Martin ‘Chino’ Chino, and Jacob ‘Decemate’ Cato. The pair replaced Brice ‘Faccento’ Faccento and Richard ‘Ricky’ Stacy on the roster, both of whom had played for the team in the recent $250,000 CWL Vegas event. The news was formerly announced on December 21 via a post on the official G2 Esports Twitter page, although many had already been expecting the moves to take place at some point prior to the qualifying tournament for the CWL Pro League. Unless there are any last minute unexpected changes, this will the roster that G2 feature in the upcoming Pro League Qualifier, which is set to take place mid-January. Exciting Announcement! Please welcome @Methodz and @Lacefield to the #G2ARMY. The team did make a slight push in the Loser’s Bracket, winning their first two elimination games, but were dominated by 100 Thieves in the third round to finish 13th-16th. However, the team has been largely disappointing in their results so far in Black Ops 4, and after a low 13th-16th finish at CWL Vegas, many felt that they had to make a change. Good luck to FaZe. Heading into 2019 under @G2esports alongside @Lacefield @MJCheen @Decemate @Blazt! — G2 Zinni (@Methodz) December 21, 2018 These moves leave the future uncertain for the two players that were replaced, Ricky and Faccento, who will now have to find spots to fill on teams who will be playing in the Pro League qualifier next month. Ricky confirmed that he was released by G2 in a long post on Twitter, in which he affirmed that he wants to continue playing at the highest level but is also open to a coaching position. • G2 Esports CoD team split following CWL Pro League qualifier exit – Dexerto

G2 Esports CoD team split following CWL Pro League qualifier exit G2 Esports / TwitterG2 Esports player Martin ‘Chino’ Chino has become the first player to announce restricted free agency, following the team’s exit at the CWL Pro League qualifiers. G2, who previously entered Call of Duty in the Infinite Warfare season and similarly missed out on the 2017 Pro League, have once again had their roster fall short at the crucial moment. The recruitment of Anthony ‘Zinni’ Methodz from FaZe Clan wasn’t enough to bolster the roster and secure qualification, as they fell in the playoff bracket, despite having a 4-2 record in the pools. With no Stage 2 of the CWL Pro League, the roster’s hopes of playing at the top level in Black Ops 4 were officially dead, meaning a split was inevitable. On Wednesday, January 23, Chino announced that he was officially a restricted free agent, with a buyout pending which any teams interested in recruiting the 2x CoD: WWII champion would have to pay. Officially a Restricted F/A If any teams need a player/sub please contact me or @z1n0 for buyout details. More players from the G2 lineup are expected to announce free agency soon, or be signed to a new roster, possibly as a substitute. All 16 teams in the CWL Pro League must have a substitute on the roster, who will play in the amateur league unless called upon by the main lineup.

  • G2 announce Version1 partnership & take control of Minnesota Rokkr CDL team – Dexerto

G2 announce Version1 partnership & take control of Minnesota Rokkr CDL team G2 Esports/Version1G2 Esports, one of the most popular organizations in the industry, has announced a full merger with Version1, parent company of the Call of Duty League’s Minnesota Røkkr, who have also fielded teams in Valorant and Rocket League. The merger has long been speculated, especially in recent weeks as V1 has started to wave farewell to several teams and players that were representing them. After months of planning and rumors, though, it has now been made official, as the “strategic partnership” was announced on December 5, 2023. The move sees G2 take control and operating rights of Minnesota Røkkr, but as reported by Dexerto in August, they will not be rebranding this season — though that doesn’t mean they won’t in the coming years. G2 has previously been in Call of Duty prior to the franchising era, throughout Infinite Warfare and Black Ops 4, though they never achieved higher than a top 16 placement on LAN. Version1 is backed by Gary Vee and WISE Ventures, the investment arm of the Wilf family, who own the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings and MLS and NWSL teams Orlando City SC and Pride. Jonathan Wilf, President & Ownership Partner of Version1, commented, “I am excited about the next chapter for the Version1 story. We continue to believe in the future of esports and know partnering with a top tier organization such as G2 will best position our group for future success.” Konrad von Moltke, Principal of WISE Ventures, added, “We have been impressed with what G2 has built: a competitive powerhouse, a strong and growing commercial engine, and a passionate and loyal fan base. In what has been a challenging esports market environment, G2’s focus on sustainable growth has been remarkable.” Alongside the Call of Duty team, the company will now field teams across eight major esports titles including League of Legends, VALORANT, Counter Strike, Rainbow Six, Rocket League, Wild Rift, and Sim Racing. With this move, the Version1 brand will be put on hold with no plans to field competitive teams.

  • OpTic Gaming Call of Duty team to be dismantled entirely, claims infamous CoDBurner – Dexerto

OpTic Gaming Call of Duty team to be dismantled entirely, claims infamous CoDBurner MLGThe infamous Call of Duty insider known as the ‘CoDBurner‘ continues to predict doom for OpTic Gaming‘s pro team, amid reports that the organization may soon be purchased by Immortals. On May 27, the CoDBurner posted his most recent set of leaked information about OpTic, in which he claimedthat the players will be sold “one by one.” “I think what I said about OpTic playing under a different name at [CWL] Anaheim is true,” he wrote. “They’re going to sell the players one by one after it, so RosterMania is going to be lit.” What the CoDBurner is suggesting is that Immortals will indeed be the one’s purchasing the Infinite Esports and Entertainment, and OpTic with it, and will opt to sell the CoD team to a different organization, since teams can’t be dismantled when the roster transfer window is closed. However, once the third and final roster change period opens, all of the players will be individually sold to different teams for the remainder of the season, which would undoubtedly make for the most hectic RosterMania of all time. If this does turn out to be the case, then that means current OpTic CEO Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez would have failed to acquire and preserve the OpTic brand, which many fans have been hoping he will be able to do. H3CZ himself has admitted that he is trying his best to save OpTic, which would otherwise be completely dissolved if Immortals do end up acquiring Infinite. Of course, what the CoDBurner posted could turn out to be completely false, but there is some credibility to his info, considering that he leaked last year that Infinite had tried to drop the CoD team. At the time, his leaks were strongly opposed and doubted by the community, but now, a year later, the information was ultimately confirmed to be true by H3CZ and longtime OpTic member Davis ‘Hitch’ Edwards. “I told you all before, Infinite was trying to drop CoD last year but no one believed it,” he wrote. “Thank you Davis for confirming it. I stopped posting about OpTic because people would always get mad, so I’m kind of sad and happy it’s coming out.” ACHES hits back at NAMELESS for criticizing Envy’s role changes – “Actually brain dead”CoDBurner also made sure to not level any of the blame of this predicament on H3CZ, whom he claims “loves all the players and content creators but can’t do a thing with no money.” As always, we will continue bringing you update’s on OpTic Gaming’s future as more information becomes available.

  • Future of Warzone teased in possible Bunker 11 easter egg – Dexerto

Future of Warzone teased in possible Bunker 11 easter egg Infinity Ward / MrDalekJA possible solution to an easter egg within Warzone may have revealed some new details about the future of the battle royale and potentially even the 2020 Call of Duty game. There’s been a lot of hype surrounding Warzone lately, even more so than usual, as a recent update finally opened up all of the previously locked bunkers on the map, including Bunker 11. The reason Bunker 11 has been singled out by many people is that it’s much larger than the rest and contains a nuclear warhead, which is being interpreted as a sign that some ominous event is on the way. There is an intricate easter egg tied in with this area, one that allows you to see the warhead, but some believe that the trail of clues goes beyond just that. Reddit user ‘freshlikeuhhhhh’ has posted what they believe is a possible solution to the hidden aspects of the easter egg, one that may shine some light on what’s to come in Warzone down the line. If you pay attention when entering the secret areas of the bunker, you’ll notice two codes spray-painted on the wall: 209-A14, which is the RGB Hex code for the color green, and 324-51-7, which happens to be the space coordinates of the planet Uranus on May 20, the day after this patch went live. Now, why would Uranus matter when it comes to Warzone? Well, the element Uranium, which has traditionally been used in developing nuclear weapons, was named after the planet. Furthermore, when those same numbers are searched with the word ‘astronomy,’ they link to another book that discussed the Leipzig Experiment – a well-known scientific accident in 1942 that dealt with a Uranium leak, which happens to be green by the way (ding, ding, ding!). What does this all mean? Well, there’s a chance that this could all be a coincidence and have nothing to do with Warzone. But it seems that there’s too much info adding up for it to be totally random. The fact that there is a nuclear weapon sitting in a bunker located at the heart of Verdansk, most likely made from Uranium, means that there are definitely dots to connect. The combination of the weapon, the green gas, and the “big red shiny button” that players can interact with points to some sort of nuclear attack or accident taking place. We do know that the upcoming Season 4 of Modern Warfare is due to bring some major changes to the BR, particularly to the map, and previous teasers and leaks have hinted that the Dam location will be the target of some sort of explosion causing the water to gush out over what is now a frozen landscape. Could that be what this all is leading to? Could there be changes to the dam location in #Warzone coming? The new Modern Warfare main menu is hinting at that happening. pic.twitter.com/02xE8fNh27 — CharlieIntel (@charlieINTEL) April 13, 2020 There’s also a chance this could be more of a “big picture” teaser, not just for a single map change in the next major update. For example, this is the sort of thing that could bleed as deep as the next CoD title, slated for release in the fall. There have been enough leaks and rumors to strongly suggest that CoD 2020 will be called Black Ops Cold War and take place during that era, and if there’s one phrase that perfectly describes that period in history, it’s “nuclear threat.” We already know that Activision plan on making Warzone the battle royale that connects all the other CoD franchises together, so who’s to say the easter eggs players are stumbling across now won’t develop into much larger events down the line.

Future of OpTic Gaming’s Karma Hangs in The Balance as He Steps Down From Competitive Roster Following the announcements of the Luminosity and OpTic Gaming Call of Duty rosters, there is one player notably sitting on the sidelines – three time world champion Damon “Karma” Barlow. After replacing OpTic Gaming legend Matt “Nadeshot” Haag, Karma went on to win a total of 13 LAN tournament wins with OpTic, including winning the organization its first World Championship – and his third. His time on the roster has finally come to an end, as OpTic Gaming have recruited former Luminosity player Sam “Octane” Larew and former tK playerAnthony “Methodz” Zinni, with FormaL going the opposite direction and joining LG. For Karma however, the future remains unclear. Many fans had predicted an announcement would be made in vision, but currently, his plans are not known. It seems that he has two options now, and undoubtedly a player at his level will have offers from other teams, but with his choices for Pro League teams limited, his other option is to sit out the rest of the season. He could of course retire entirely, but with Black Ops 4 set for an early release in October, he will probably have opportunities to return to competition, if he was to step away temporarily. Remain with OpTic, as a content creator. This is certainly the most likely option, as Karma has become a fan favorite with the Greenwall. Many past professional players such as Marcus “MBoZe” Blanks and Will “BigTymer” Johnson have taken similar paths and remain active members of the organization to this day. Having recently moved to OpTic’s home state in Texas, this outcome would make the most sense logistically also, unless Karma is set on continuing to compete. Staying with OpTic would provide him the security he needs for his family, as someone who has a daughter this will be a priority to him. Join a non-Pro League team, ahead of CWL World Championship It is somewhat unlikely, but Karma could consider joining a qualifier team ahead of CoD Champs. If there is one tournament Karma knows how to win, it is the world championship. He is the only player to win three rings, including two consecutively in 2013 and 2014. He is also of course a reigning world champion. If a North American team from outside the Pro League is looking to qualify for Champs in August, Karma will be a top priority for them, and Karma will certainly not want to miss out on an opportunity at the top prize again. Pro League His potential Pro League team moves are admittedly limited, and with roster lock fast approaching on May 7th, time is limited even more. The previous two options are much more likely than Karma finding his way on to a Pro League team. Reliable sources inform Dexerto that he has little desire to continue to compete in WWII. For the sake of speculation, teams such as Team Kaliber, Echo Fox, Team Envy or eUnited are able to make changes, and may have considered Karma as an option. But most of these teams very recently made roster changes themselves, meaning it is less likely still. So for Karma, it looks very unlikely fans will see him take part in Stage Two of the Pro League, or the rest of the WWII season for that matter, but he could return for CoD Champs or Black Ops 4. On the other hand, he may simply put down the controller for good, and take on a content creation role with OpTic. Or who knows, maybe we see Karma take his talents to another esport…

  • Furious Warzone players claim hit reg is worse than ever on Caldera – Dexerto

Furious Warzone players claim hit reg is worse than ever on Caldera Treyarch/ActivisionWarzone players are claiming hit reg has got worse since the arrival of Caldera and that on-target shots are not always dealing damage. The arrival of Warzone Pacific introduced a range of new additions to Raven Software’s battle royale, including the RICOCHET anti-cheat and of course, the Caldera map. Despite a lot of these features being received positively by the community at first, the cracks have started to show over the last few weeks, with hackers taking over matches once again, and glitches affecting the overall gameplay experience. Now, players have even begun to notice problems with hit reg on Caldera, claiming that shots aimed directly at a target sometimes don’t deal any damage. Hit reg issues are frustrating Warzone players on Caldera In a competitive shooter like Warzone, hit registration has to be absolutely perfect or the ability to win a skirmish is no longer determined by gun skill. This is a serious issue as it will leave players wondering why their shots aren’t dealing any damage, especially when they’re at point-blank range, or aiming in with a sniper. Well, according to hundreds of Warzone players, that’s exactly what’s happening on Caldera at the moment with Reddit user TheTrueAlCapwn starting a discussion on the topic within the community. “Since Caldera, there have been countless incidents where I feel like I pump rounds into someone only for me to lose the gunfight… either no hit markers at all, even on close snipes to the body where there is basically no way it would miss.” Unfortunately, TheTrueAlCapwn isn’t the only Warzone player to have experienced these hit reg issues, with some saying it’s particularly bad within the Gulag during an intense 1v1. “It happens in the gulag especially for me, I’ll start shooting a guy and he’s one bullet away from death, and then all of the sudden I’m dead from…a bullet.” Despite acknowledging that there are a lot of problems plaguing Warzone at the moment, Raven hasn’t commented directly on hit reg, but it may be something they will need to look into in the near future. There’s nothing worse than missing a shot you thought landed on target, especially if it happens over and over again.

  • Full Warzone 2 map leaked with all POIs – Dexerto

Full Warzone 2 map leaked with all POIs ActivisionCall of Duty Warzone 2 may not have a release date yet, but a new report has leaked the battle royale’s full map, showing how it will look as well as the locations on the map. Warzone 2 is in active development and slated for a 2023 launch, but the next iteration of Call of Duty battle royale’s map has leaked — along with a series of POIs. Warzone has been hugely popular for Call of Duty ever since it was released alongside Modern Warfare in 2019, with Verdansk proving to be incredibly loved by players of all different playstyles and backgrounds. While Caldera hasn’t received the same level of love, it’s still very popular, but many players would love to see a return to Verdansk or a brand new map altogether — but that’s where Warzone 2 comes in. Call of Duty Warzone 2 map and POIs leak In a report from industry insider Tom Henderson (via Try Hard Guides), the new map has been revealed, along with confirmation of the rumored swimming mechanic. You can see Henderson’s map below: As you can see from the image above, the lower portion of the map will be dominated by water, with the aforementioned swimming mechanic allowing players to flank, while Henderson notes that the black line indicates a railway line. Henderson also notes that the map is expected to be larger than both Verdansk and Caldera, the two current Warzone maps and that the long-rumored DMZ mode could take place on the same map in some capacity. Previous leaks have suggested some of the POIs and locations in the game will be based on classic Modern Warfare 2 maps from the original 2009 game. These include Afghan, Terminal, Quarry, and Highrise, though that may not be an exhaustive list. As always, it’s best to take these leaks with a grain of salt, but Henderson’s track record is very good, so this may well be our first proper look at the as-yet-unnamed Warzone 2 map.

  • Full player statistics released for Call of Duty’s Blackout beta – most solo eliminations, longest combat axe kill, and more – Dexerto

Full player statistics released for Call of Duty’s Blackout beta – most solo eliminations, longest combat axe kill, and more The Blackout battle royale beta is now over, and developers Treyarch have published a variety of statistics they collected over the course of the testing period. The statistics are from a variety of different categories, from several individual and team kill records to how many Zombies were eliminated throughout the beta. According to the post, these statistics were collected across all platforms – PS4, Xbox One, and PC – and presumably cover the entirety of the beta period, which was from September 10-17. Read More: Everything Treyarch are fixing, changing, and investigating after Blackout beta – Armor, footsteps, and more – As far as elimination records, there are five that have been included in the post: most kills by an individual player in Solos, Duos, and Quads, and most kills by a team in Duos and Quads. Most kills by an individual player: Solos: 25 – Duos: 29 – Quads: 25 – Most kills by a team: Duos: 32 – Quads: 38 – These numbers obviously obviously do not count if enemy players were downed but revived by teammates. Speaking of revives, team members revived each other a total of 26 million times during the beta. The second was that 123 players were eliminated with a basketball, an odd but rather satisfying statistic. In case you are wondering how that was done, the left portion of the Estates location on the Blackout map is a basketball court that contains several basketballs which can be used to inflict melee damage on other players. • Full patch notes for latest hotfix update released for Blackout beta – changes to Collapse, Wingsuit nerf, and more – Dexerto

Full patch notes for latest hotfix update released for Blackout beta – changes to Collapse, Wingsuit nerf, and more Treyarch have released a new hotfix update on September 14 for beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout battle royale mode. Treyarch have noted that this patch is of the “Game Settings Have Changed” variety, which are generally smaller and not as fundamental as the Game Updates, such as the one released on September 13. However, this hotfix patch has still introduced some game tuning changes, as well as addressed several of the bugs that had been plaguing the Blackout beta in the early goings. There are several aspects of note in this update’s patch notes, most important of which is the fact that the beta on the Xbox One and PC, which went live early on September 14, is being capped at 80 maximum players. That was the max player count for the Playstation 4 beta as well, before Treyarch raised it to 88, which suggests that the same could be in store for the Xbox One and PC versions of the beta in the coming days. The full official patch notes for this latest hotfix update can be read below, as provided by Treyarch. We thought this might be a good time to tell you about differences between Game Updates and Game Settings Have Changed. Game Updates are a big deal. They take a lot of time to get ready because they are based on changing, adding, or replacing executable code. Whenever we do that, we need to conduct extensive testing and we must send those changes to platform holders for review. Major features usually require a Game Update (also known as a patch). Game Settings Have Changed is the smaller download you see happen when you start up the game and we’ve made changes you don’t yet have. Game Settings do not contain executable code, but include almost everything else. We can update, modify, and fix a lot of things with updated game settings. Game Settings are typically updated around or about 10:00 AM PST. Speaking of changes, we’ve made the following updates to the Beta today: General Beta now live on Xbox One and PC, currently with up to 80 maximum players per match – – Miscellaneous: Multiple fixes for “Game Session Has Ended” errors. We continue to find and fix these issues on a case-by-case basis. – Multiple fixes for collision and players getting stuck on the map – Additional improvements to stats both behind the scenes and for Merits Per Action – Various Killcam bug fixes – Fixed a bug that caused multiple players to spawn in the Staging Area in the same spot – Fixes for players not properly entering the downed state when involved in mid-air helicopter crashes – – Game Tuning: Collapse: Increased the damage players take inside the collapsed area of the map – – Wingsuit: Players can no longer gain altitude at high speed – Pulling up from a steep dive now takes slightly longer – – Supply Drops: Cargo plane now has increased health and cannot be damaged by bullets – – – Collapse: – Source – Reddit

Full patch notes for Black Ops 4 update on October 16 – Blackout player count, Multiplayer fixes, and more Treyarch have released another update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on October 16, addressing aspects of all three game modes. The update includes changes to the player count in Blackout, fixes for issues within Multiplayer, especially Custom Games, as well as a series of stability and performance improvements for the PC version. Blackout players will note that the now featured Duos playlist has been boosted to 100 players, while the Quads playlist has been capped at 88. “We’re continue to update various game settings to ensure the best experience for all players across all platforms and modes.” As for the Multiplayer, the featured playlist has been changed to Heist, and a major bug that was causing custom Search and Destroy matches to end after seven rounds has been fixed. Now, custom SnD matches will end after one team wins six rounds, which is what the traditional format of competitive SnD matches has normally been. This update is one of several that have gone live since the game was released on October 12, which shows that Treyarch are serious in their efforts to stay on top of things and make sure all issues are addressed as soon as possible. The full patch notes for this October 16 game update can be seen below: We’re switching things up a bit today! While we test out different maximum player counts in Quads, we’re boosting Duos from 88 to 100 per match on all platforms. Let us know how hunting down an extra dozen targets out there feels in Duos. There’s also great news for PC players, with today’s update from Beenox addressing several crashes, stability improvements, and gameplay tweaks. See below for the full list. • Full network analysis of Black Ops 4 and Blackout confirms suspicions of downgraded servers – Dexerto

Full network analysis of Black Ops 4 and Blackout confirms suspicions of downgraded servers A full network analysis performed by YouTuber Battle(non)sense confirms the ongoing scandal surrounding reduced server send rates for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, dropping to 20Hz from 60 in the beta. A Reddit post on October 20 first sparked suspicions among the community, as it concluded that the server send rate – the number of updates the server sends to all players – had been reduced by a third from the beta, in the full game. These reduced server send rates were first only supported anecdotally, as players reported increased kill trading, unbalanced corner peeking and poor hit registration. If you are unsure of the terminology used here, be sure to check out our earlier article describing the terms, but essentially, the client is your Console/PC, the server is the dedicated server the game is played on, and Hz is a measure of how many times information (or an ‘update’) is sent per second. YouTuber Battle(non)sense is one of the best network analysis channels, with a specific focus on gaming, and previously tested the Black Ops 4 beta, establishing the 60Hz figure being compared against now. He confirmed that indeed, on PC, Black Ops 4 multiplayer servers had been reduced to only a 20Hz send rate, matching that of Blackout. One of the most telling statistics is this comparison between Black Ops 4 (multiplayer), Blackout, and other popular multiplayer and Battle Royale games. As you can see, with two players at the same ping (25ms), the player still gets a hitmarker despite the enemy being clearly behind cover. 2017’s CoD: WWII for example used 60Hz servers, but had a very shaky launch period, with a lot of crashes, whereas Black Ops 4’s launch has been relatively flawless in comparison, with no major server outages.

  • Full MW3 & Warzone Season 3 roadmap: Five new perks, Rebirth Island, more – Dexerto

Full MW3 & Warzone Season 3 roadmap: Five new perks, Rebirth Island, more Activision BlizzardMW3 and Warzone Season content has been revealed and will come with new maps, perks, and more across both titles and their various modes. This new season promises to bring the biggest multiplayer map drop ever, with six new core 6v6 locations and one variant, along with five new perks, and the return of Rebirth Island in Warzone. This content season will also be connected to Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile and will drop in just a few days. Here’s everything you need to know about Season 3’s content coming to MW3 and Warzone. Contents Release date – New multiplayer maps – New multiplayer game modes – Ranked – New perks & equipment – Zombies – Warzone Season 3 overview – Warzone mobile overview – New weapons and Aftermarket perks – New operators and store offerings – Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone Season 3: Release date MW3’s Season 3 goes live on Wednesday, April 3 at 9 AM PT across all platforms. Once the patch goes live, you can hop in and experience all the new content across Warzone, MW3’s multiplayer, and the Zombies mode. Modern Warfare 3 Season 3: New multiplayer maps Sledgehammer is dropping six new maps across Season 3, with two of them coming from a collaboration with Beenox. The new 6v6 maps coming at launch are: 6 Star – Emergency – Growhouse – Tanked – The following 6v6 maps will join the game mid-season: Checkpoint – Grime – Modern Warfare 3 Season 3: New multiplayer game modes Two new modes will be added to the game on launch, with three coming later in Season 3. The modes coming to the game are the following: Capture the Flag (Launch) Capture the Flag (CTF) pits two competitive teams against each other, with eliminations being only part of the plan: The real tactics involve stealing the opponent’s flag and returning it to their home base, while simultaneously defending that same base and their flag from the enemy. As a flag won’t be scored as “captured” until a team’s flag is safe in its base, squads must bring both impressive offensive and defensive capabilities to win the match. – – One in the Chamber (Launch) The party game mode rewards those with impressive aiming and ammunition discipline. Each player in this free-for-all gets a single bullet to start with and one additional bullet every time you achieve a kill. You also start with three lives, and the bullet you’re firing is extremely potent, dropping foes no matter where you hit them. Enemies who succumb to this one-hit kill lose a life, while the successful marksman gains another bullet. Out of bullets? Fancy your chances at close-range combat? Then melee attacks are also an option; bring a knife to a gunfight if you (or your foes) run out of ammo. – – Minefield (Mid-Season) Minefield is multiplayer but with mines. Currently applicable to almost any current game mode, Sledgehammer Games will be switching on this game variant in a variety of modes, like Kill Confirmed, Domination, and Hardpoint. Minefield uses the same rules as the mode in question, but with one important addition: When you defeat a rival player, a Proximity Mine is dropped at the enemy’s corpse. This mine cannot be picked up and remains deadly to the enemy team (but not to any friendly teammates). As the action heats up, the scattered mines across the map ramp up the action to a cacophony of chaos! – – Escort (Mid-Season) Those Call of Duty: Warzone veterans who remember playing the entertaining, limited-time mode known as Payload know what to expect here as two teams — both with unlimited respawns — face off on a variety of maps, with one side protecting a MAW as it maneuvers across the map. Meanwhile, the opposing force has enemy takedowns and the grand prize of vehicular destruction on their minds! The attacking team’s overriding goal is to ensure the vehicle reaches its destination. The defending team’s plan of attack is to disable the vehicle by any means necessary. Once the first game of the match is completed, the teams swap objectives and the side with the quickest vehicle takedown wins. – – Vortex Playlist (In-Season) The preternatural map variants – Airborne, Satan’s Quarry, Skidgrow, Sporeyard, and Tetanus – return in a special limited-time Playlist coming later in Season 3. The familiar Vortex Mosh Pit will be available, along with a new Arcade Mode, with several gameplay modifiers to add yet more variety to your game. Expect the “Vortex Vir.Rus Mainframe” Event to launch alongside this limited-time Playlist. More information on this event is available later in this blog. – – Modern Warfare 3 Season 3: Ranked The update included a look at the new Ranked rewards that players can earn for their play throughout the season and the game’s lifespan. Though his compound is easy to reach, stepping foot on the island with your limbs still attached may be more of a challenge. Warzone Season 3: Overview Rebirth Island return Developed by Beenox, the return of Rebirth Island represents your new destination for Resurgence Matches, as well as your home for Season 3 Call of Duty: Warzone Ranked Play: Resurgence developed by Treyarch and Raven Software. New POIs Bioweapons – Industry – Chemical Engineering – Dock – Control Center – Prison – Harbor – Headquarters (and Lighthouse) – Factory – Living Quarters – Stronghold – Warzone Season 3: Modes and events Three new modes and multiple events are coming to Warzone at launch and in the middle of the season on Rebirth Island and Urzikstan. Call of Duty: Warzone Bootcamp (Launch) Refine your Call of Duty: Warzone tactics in a new training mode set on a randomized slice of Urzikstan. Expanding on the Modern Warfare III “Training Course,” which launched in Season 2, the all-new Call of Duty: Warzone Bootcamp is designed to help new players build confidence for their first official drop-in. – Call of Duty: Warzone Bootcamp is a Quad-only training mode (either partied up or fill-squad) providing players a snapshot of the real-deal Call of Duty: Warzone experience, featuring up to 20 players via mode-specific matchmaking and 24 bots to test their mettle. Warzone Bootcamp is the only mode for Call of Duty: Warzone featuring bots. If this changes in the future, we’ll ensure the community is informed ahead of time. – – Rebirth Resurgence (Launch) Rebirth Island is the perfect place for the faster-paced, more aggressive playstyle that Resurgence brings to Battle Royale. As you know if you’ve dropped into Urzikstan, Ashika Island, Vondel, or Fortune’s Keep, your squad is here for the win, but accomplishing this requires more frequent engagements and greater risks. The Gulag is closed, and any time you’re eliminated, you redeploy after a short respawn timer, providing you have teammates who are still battling across the island! Come for the loot, takedowns, and rapid combat, and stay for the frantic final moments and earn that Rebirth Resurgence victory! – – Rebirth Resurgence Loaded (Mid-Season) Ditch the ground loot in matches of Resurgence and bring in your preferred Loadout and custom equipment, meaning all players come fully locked and loaded right from the start of the match, enabling you to concentrate on the win without the need for ground cache collecting. If you’re taken out during a match, you redeploy using the same Resurgence rules, but with the possibility of changing to another of your custom Loadouts. If you’re out of ammo or equipment, the higher ratio of legendary and reusable loot boxes means you’re never far from a fully kitted out Operator, though you’re here to bring the firepower, and the victory! – – Rebirth Lockdown (Mid-Season) Lockdown comes to Rebirth Island with multiple squads tasked to capture and control zones across the map, scoring points for each zone successfully held, like a large-scale Battle Royale version of Hardpoint. Total player count is adjusted due to the smaller nature of the map, allowing for balanced but chaotic combat: Drop in with your favorite Custom Loadout — or bring a new weapon you want to quickly level up — and learn the new rotations so your team occupies as many zones as possible, accruing more points to ensure victory, rather than being the last squad standing. Respawns are active, and toward the end of a match, so are High-Value Zones that offer the chance for greater point acquisition, as well as the fiercest fighting yet experienced in this mode! – – Rebirth Infil Strikes (In-Season) Rebirth Island has numerous landmarks you utilize in almost every game, but what if one of those locations was leveled by an airstrike, just prior to infil? Keep your wits about you and learn new tactical movement across the rubble-filled scenery, should an Infil Strike occur during a match. These explosive infil elements occur rarely and randomly adding new gameplay experiences to that match. – – Gulag: Climb and Punishment (Launch) A duel to the death isn’t the only option if you find yourself in a Gulag during a Battle Royale; if this public event is announced at the start of your Gulag confrontation, it’s worth keeping your comms on and negotiating with your opponent. Two ladders will drop from the roof, providing an easy escape route, and it’s up to you both to trust each other and ascend to redeployment. Or you can engage in combat as normal and ignore the ladders or pretend to agree to escaping and then double-cross a well-meaning rival during their climb. . . . – – Heavy Armor (Mid-Season) Announced during infil, if this public event is activated, it allows you some added protection, enabling the equipping of an additional Armor Plate for the duration of the match. The extra plate slot is visible above your health bar where plate information is normally seen: – This increases your Operator’s Armor Hit Points from 150 to 200. – The extra plate slot is applied no matter the plate carrier type you have equipped (standard 3-plate, Communications Vest, Medic Vest, Stealth Vest, or Tempered Plate Carrier). – You begin the match with an additional plate equipped. – Except for the Tempered Plate Carrier, you have four filled plates at the start of a match. 200 Health, 50 Health per plate. – The Tempered Plate Carrier, if equipped, has three plates, with the third one partially filled at the start of a match. A full Tempered Plate Carrier has 200 Health, 66.7 Health per plate. – Adjust your tactics accordingly, as this Public Event allows you to last longer between re-plating and lengthens the TTK and ammo expenditure when downing foes. – – Warzone Season 3: Mission contracts Two new contracts are coming with Season 3 for Rebirth Island. Spy Drones (Launch) Confirmation that spy drones of unknown origin have been observed within the area of operations has resulted in a new Contract to undertake. You and your squad are to locate the drones, which appear to be gathering data at a specific destination. Head to the rendezvous point, and immediately destroy them. Expect additional rewards for neutralizing the swarm in rapid succession, and ensure you inspect the vicinity for dropped Armor Plates, Redeploy Drones, and possibly an Advanced UAV. Fair warning: Enemy Operators active in the area can steal these rewards if they reach the designated Drone zone before your team does. – – Resurgence Champion’s Quest (Launch) The ultimate contract mission is confirmed to be active on Rebirth Island once a certain number of consecutive wins, or a total number of wins, are achieved. Bring a game plan and some competent cohorts with you while you wait for, locate, and then defend three elements necessary to create an impressively explosive finale, and achieve complete domination over your enemies. Expect a variety of rewards, including an Animated Calling Card, Charm, Sticker, Weapon Camo, and Operator Skin for those elite enough to complete the quest. – – Warzone Season 3: Ranked Ranked play will remain largely unchanged in the new season, with only new rewards being added to the game. • Full Modern Warfare battle royale map for Warzone allegedly leaked – Dexerto

Full Modern Warfare battle royale map for Warzone allegedly leaked ActivisionWhile the hype is building for Call of Duty’s next battle royale, one leaker has revealed the supposed full map for Modern Warfare’s Warzone. Fanfare surrounding Modern Warfare’s battle royale snowballed after a ‘Classified’ tab appeared in the main menu with the big Season Two update on February 11. With no official date in sight for the battle royale’s grand debut, many have been speculating when Infinity Ward will pull the plug. A renowned Call of Duty leaker even claimed that it’d be pushed live as early as March 10, but only time will tell. And as the apparent release date approaches, more information is surfacing. One Redditor has even leaked the full battle royale map to the Warzone subreddit. Updated from the original map leaked way back in November, this new image shows the boundaries outlining the playable area. The image appears to be plucked straight out of the game. While it’s difficult to contextualize the vastness of the map, previous leaks have suggested that the map will hold up to 200 players in any given game. The Reddit user, Senescallo, has a reputation of posting leaks pertaining to upcoming content in Modern Warfare, including multiplayer maps, battle pass features and, most recently, challenges and missions. Moreover, the same map featured in a comprehensive post by ‘Kalinine.’ This was the map previously posted in November, which pinpoints specific locations and references certain multiplayer maps and Spec Ops maps that will feature in the end product. The user also estimated that the playable area will be approximately 8 km² and based on the maps that will feature, players will already have played anywhere “between 25% and 40%” of the battle royale map upon release. A teaser trailer for the battle royale mode has been previously featured in-game, which is where we first caught a glimpse of the map during the cinematic of players jumping out of an aircraft into the thick of the action. Players are, of course, eager to get their hands on Infinity Ward’s attempt at a battle royale map. And given that we’re already over four months in Modern Warfare’s lifecycle, players will be hoping that it debuts sooner rather than later.

  • Full Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer gameplay leaks ahead of CoD Next 2023 – Dexerto

Full Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer gameplay leaks ahead of CoD Next 2023 ActivisionEarly Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer gameplay has leaked across social media ahead of an official showcase scheduled for the CoD Next 2023 event. The Modern Warfare 3 hype train just left the station. Following on from an earlier campaign reveal, the more hotly anticipated multiplayer showcase was announced for this year’s CoD Next event on October 5. Before we get there, however, early gameplay has now spilled out online. While a nostalgia-fuelled trailer gave us some brief snippets of multiplayer action, new leaks have now given us our first unedited look at the game in motion. It all appears to stem from dataminers and leakers who begun cracking into the early Modern Warfare 3 Beta pre-download on PlayStation hardware. Mere hours after the pre-load for this year’s CoD Beta rolled out on PS5 and PS4, various tidbits began to appear online. From our first look at the in-game UI, to confirmation on key settings like an FOV Slider, we learned plenty the floodgates properly opened. Following it up was full-fledged multiplayer gameplay, as various clips showed multiple minutes of raw Modern Warfare 3 footage. From the return of advanced movement mechanics to a look at the restored MW2 2009 maps, it’s all on display already. Leaks often pile up ahead of official reveals, and this year’s CoD launch is now no different. Just one day out from Activision’s grand showcase at the CoD Next event, a great deal of intel has slipped through the cracks before the formal broadcast. Naturally, it should only be a matter of hours before much of the footage is struck down, as Activision historically acts fast when it comes to major gameplay leaks. So don’t expect this new Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer footage to be viewable for all too long, at least not from the original sources. Fortunately, avid fans won’t have to wait long to get plenty more official footage. Dozens of the scene’s biggest content creators and most recognizable pro players are all in attendance for CoD Next 2023. Everyone there will be sharing their own POV live across social media for fans to enjoy on the day. Not only will we see the first proper Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer matches, but the future of Warzone will also be unveiled.

  • Full match schedule announced for $4.6 million CDL Playoffs & Champs – Dexerto

Full match schedule announced for $4.6 million CDL Playoffs & Champs CDL[jwplayer br5AuoVJ] With the Call of Duty League Playoff bracket set following the Toronto Home Series, the CDL has officially released the full schedule for the postseason, which begins on August 19 and sets the stage for August 29’s Championship Weekend. Split into Winners and Losers, or “Elimination,” brackets, the playoff schedule is moving into a much steadier cadence than the weekend tournaments CDL fans became accustomed to all season. Instead of each day featuring three-plus matchups, the first three days of postseason play will have just two matches apiece—adding more gravity as each team looks to grab their share of the postseason’s $4.6 million prize pool. Day 1 will begin earlier than most CDL weekends, on a Wednesday, with the first round of eliminations: #10 Paris Legion vs. #11 Seattle Surge then #9 Los Angeles OpTic Gaming vs. in-city rivals, #12 Los Angeles Guerrillas. Day 2 shifts to the Winners Bracket, with the #6 London Royal Ravens facing the #7 Toronto Ultra and #5 New York Subliners taking on the #8 Minnesota ROKKR. Day 3 is when some of the higher-seeded teams see their first action, having earned first-round byes due to their regular-season success. The winner of London vs Toronto will battle #3 Florida Mutineers while the winner of the latter will face the #4 Chicago Huntsmen. All of those matches will set the stage for the CDL postseason’s penultimate weekend, in which the Elimination Bracket will hit its second round on Saturday just before the last two remaining teams from the Winners Bracket will meet the bye-privileged top seeds, the #1 Atlanta FaZe and #2 Dallas Empire. Sunday’s schedule is set in terms of times, but every matchup has yet to be decided. The third round of eliminations will start the day, at 1 p.m. ET and 2:30 p.m. ET, followed by the Winners Bracket’s fourth round, at 4 p.m. ET and 5:30 p.m. ET. It’s unclear exactly what times will be set for August 29 and 30’s Championship Weekend, but they’re likely to be similar to this first weekend and the bracket will be entirely dictated by this first week of play. A historic $4.6 million prize pool is on the line, with the final league champions earning a cool $1.5 million just to themselves. Aside from the bottom two teams, who will leave the tournament empty-handed, each organization that finishes in the top 10 will net at least $100,000. Although the daily schedule deviates from the norm, the format for each match remains relatively consistent with best-of-fives for every matchup until the final Championship game. The finals will instead shift to a best-of-nine format, with the Winners Bracket team starting with a one-map lead. For more information about the Call of Duty League postseason, including specifics about the format, prize breakdown, and more, check out our CDL Playoffs and Championship Weekend info page.

  • Full list of Warzone 2 map POIs potentially leaked – Dexerto

Full list of Warzone 2 map POIs potentially leaked ActivisionThe full list of all Warzone 2 map POIs might have been leaked, featuring a number of recreations of classic Modern Warfare 2 maps. On May 18, the first Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 map leaks started to spread across the internet, with Quarry, Highrise, Terminal, and Afghan suggested to be coming to both games. One day later, the full list of possible Warzone 2 map POIs was supposedly leaked, giving players an insight into the sheer scale of the upcoming game. As well as the above MW2 maps from the original title in 2009, there will be 14 more POIs in Warzone 2 — amounting to 18 — and it’s not clear yet whether some of these will also be reimagined versions of classic maps. All Warzone 2 map POIs While the Warzone 2 map has still largely been kept under wraps, and there’s been no real hint yet of what could possibly be revealed, however, these leaks could give a good idea of what to expect. Here’s the full list of all 18 POIs in the Warzone 2 map, according to popular leaker Tom Henderson for eXputer: Oasis – Wartorn – Quarry (Quarry) – Oilfield – Modern City (Highrise) – Caves (Afghan) – Dam – Marshes – Harbor – Sira – Observatory – Mountain town (assumed Favela) – Graveyard – Oldtown – Shipwreck – Fishtown – Fort – Airport (Terminal) – Other notable names here include Oasis (the name of a Modern Warfare 3 DLC map), Dam (a POI in Verdansk), and Harbor (Suldal Harbor was a DLC map in Modern Warfare 2019). As always, it’s worth taking these leaks with a pinch of salt. Even if the information is accurate at the time of writing, things can always change, and this list of POIs might look completely different by the time the game arrives.

  • Full list of Modern Warfare perks reportedly leaked by CoD YouTuber – Dexerto

Full list of Modern Warfare perks reportedly leaked by CoD YouTuber Infinity WardA notorious Call of Duty leaker claims that they already know the full list of perks for Modern Warfare’s multiplayer mode – as well as details on possible weapon-specific boosts. With the build-up to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare well underway, ‘leaks’ regarding multiplayer are becoming a much more regular occurrence. Though neither Infinity Ward or Activision have released any confirmed details, that hasn’t stopped leakers from seemingly beating them to the punch. YouTuber TheGamingRevolution has previously reported information about the game’s killstreaks, an apparent battle royale mode, and changes to the competitive scene through the use of special ops. Now, the CoD content creator has apparently stumbled onto more information about multiplayer. According to the YouTuber’s recent upload, Modern Warfare will have around 16 perks but did not give any details on possible pro versions. He also stressed that the names of these perks may change moving forward. As of right now, only two names may be familiar to long-time Call of Duty fans – with Scavenger and Cold-Blooded seemingly making a return. Other perks that are listed have similar descriptions to a number of classic perks, however, their names are pretty different. The full list of Modern Warfare perks reported by TheGamingRevolution is: Scavenger – Pick up ammo from bodies – Cold-Blooded – Immune to UAV’s – Munitions – Replace secondary weapon with a primary – High Alert – On-screen alert when an enemy spots you – Tune-Up – Carry another lethal piece of equipment – Restock – Recharges lethal and tacticals – Double Time – Adds to the duration of sprinting – Spotter – Highlights enemy equipment – Battle Hardened – Reduce effects of flashbangs – Heavy Metal – Earn killstreaks by using killstreaks – Shrapnel – More damage with grenades – EOD – Reduce grenade damage – Hunter – See enemy footprints – Warhead – Reload RPG quicker – Bounty Hunter – Claim another player’s killstreak towards your own – Ghost – TBD – The YouTuber also claims that there will be perks that players can equip to weapons instead of a class – seemingly giving an extra situation-dependant boost to a gun. A number of these weapon-specific perks have seemingly been used in previous games as traditional perks, with TheGamingRevolution even rattling off some classic descriptions. However, he also claims that the full list of these perks has not been set and only 10 can be named so far. These are: FMJ – Sleight of Hand – Infinite Breath – Skulker – Mo’ Money – Bayonet – Supersonic – Glacial – Richochet – Shrapnel Shots – Of course, all of this information is currently unconfirmed and solely stems from TheGamingRevolution’s apparent source within the game’s development. A number of details could very well change before the game’s multiplayer mode is premiered, never mind prior to the release date. Until then, it’s probably best to take things with a pinch of salt until official details are revealed – even though many of these perks do sound pretty plausible. Neither Infinity Ward or Activision have stated when their Modern Warfare multiplayer reveal will happen, but considering the game launches on October 25, it can’t be too far away. Until then, we can probably expect more and more ‘leaks’ as community members try their best at beating everyone else by claiming to have the inside track on Modern Warfare.

  • Full list of 21 Black Ops Cold War Scorestreaks reportedly leaked – Dexerto

Full list of 21 Black Ops Cold War Scorestreaks reportedly leaked ActivisionBlack Ops Cold War is still a few weeks away from launch, though an early leak appears to have confirmed all 21 Scorestreaks that will be available from day one. [jwplayer QkvtNtzX] Killstreaks and Scorestreaks have been a staple of the Call of Duty franchise for many years now. Black Ops Cold War is sticking to the formula with a few unique changes, though there might be more streaks to unlock than ever before. Treyarch’s next release is set to drop on November 13 though major leaks are already starting to slip through the cracks. We got our first look at a list of Scorestreaks through the game’s early access Alpha and Beta tests. However, that was barely scratching the surface if the new intel holds true. Black Ops Cold War is set to boast 21 unique streaks at launch. All of which can be earned across multiple lives so long as you’re adding to your total score by tallying kills and completing objectives. While we can’t include the leaked image as to avoid DMCAs, here’s a rundown on each and every streak. First up, the cheapest streak in the game appears to be the Incendiary Bow. Just like the War Machine available in the Beta, this will be an equippable weapon to deal extraordinary damage. Next up are a few familiar inclusions on the cheaper side of things. The RC-XD, Spy Plane, Counter Spy Plane, and Care Package are all to be expected. Though one new streak stands out. At 700 points, players will seemingly be able to equip some armor just like in Warzone. The icon displays a bulletproof vest, so additional health could be on the menu in the core multiplayer experience The Flamethrower is another fresh addition that we haven’t seen yet, while the Death Machine is reportedly also making a return. As we scale up to the more expensive streaks, a Hand Cannon is available for 2250 points. There’s no telling just how this one might work, though it could provide a One In The Chamber style buff. At the very end of the list is the expected AI and pilotable Scorestreaks. You’ve got the Attack Helicopter and Chopper Gunner alongside a VTOL Escort and the Gunship to round things out. You’ll need to go on an absolute tear to unlock the final streak, however, as it’s placed at 10,000 points. Below is a complete list of all Scorestreaks coming to Black Ops Cold War. All 21 Scorestreaks in Black Ops Cold War Incendiary Bow – 500 – RC-XD – 600 – Armor – 700 – Spy Plane – 800 – Counter Spy Plane – 900 – Flamethrower – 1,000 – Care Package – 1,250 – Sentry Turret – 1,400 – Death Machine – 1,500 – Cruise Missile – 1,750 – Artillery – 2,000 – Hand Cannon – 2,250 – Napalm Strike – 2,500 – Air Patrol – 3,000 – War Machine – 3,250 – Strafe Run – 3,500 – Attack Helicopter – 4,000 – H.A.R.P. – 5,000 – Chopper Gunner – 6,000 – VTOL Escort – 8,000 – Gunship – 10,000 – Obviously, it’s worth taking this information with a grain of salt for now. There’s a good chance this information comes from an earlier build of the game. Some Streaks may have been removed or significantly changed already. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled over the coming days, however. If early copies of the game are already out in the wild, more leaks will likely be on the way.

Full gallery of Black Ops 4 Zombies weapon camos Some of the most sought after items in Call of Duty are weapons camos, with Black Ops 4 full of incredible skins that players can add to their weapons. While a whole host of camos can be unlocked by completing challenges in multiplayer or Call of Duty’s new battle royale mode Blackout, some can only be unlocked by playing the Zombies mode. These camos are unlocked by completing challenges and missions in Zombies, which means you’ll have to kill swarm after swarm of the undead enemy if you want to get your hands on some of these exclusive skins. Reddit user DellHappyStore has gone through every single one of the Black Ops 4 Zombies skins, and uploaded pictures of what they look like on the MOG 12 shotgun to give fans a glimpse of what they could unlock if they’re prepared to put in the time on Zombies. There are 14 Zombies exclusive skins in Black Ops 4, and you can view all them in our handy gallery below: To earn all 14 of the exclusive Zombies skins, players need to complete each subsequent camos before they can move on to the next one. For example, if you would like to unlock the Spore camo on the Strife pistol, players would already need to have unlocked the Gutter Ball camo by earning 1500 kills when the weapon has been Pack-A-Punched. Once you have found those 1500 kills, only then can you move on and attempt to unlock the Spore camo, which requires players to get 1500 kills with no attachments equipped. Treyarch have confirmed that the popular Gold, Diamond and Dark Matter camos will be arriving in the Zombies gamemode in the near future, however there has been no further information about their inclusion since the announcement was originally made on October 19.
