  • Enable explains why New York Subliners results mean the most at CDL Stage 2 Major – Dexerto

Enable explains why New York Subliners results mean the most at CDL Stage 2 Major YouTube: Dexerto Call of Duty/New York SublinersAhead of the CDL Stage 2 Major, Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt spoke with Reverse Sweep co-hosts Jonathan ‘Pacman’ Tucker and Katie Bedford about New York Subliners. They think it could be a make or break event for Clayster’s team. The Stage 1 Major definitely turned some heads as far as the Subliners are concerned. They had a standout event, including a big victory over OpTic Chicago to place in the top three of the event. They followed that with a successful Stage 2, losing only to Atlanta FaZe. But, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows in New York according to the Reverse Sweep crew. They say that a roster change will need to be considered if the team doesn’t show signs of being a championship-caliber team… and Clayster will have to put one of his young guns on the chopping block. Pacman says that NYSL needs to “hit the next level” — and a victory in their opening game against Dallas Empire could be just that. “If they beat Empire, I expect them go on and win [the event],” he says. What are the repercussions, though, if things don’t work out for New York? If they have a poor showing, or even if they simply don’t show improvements? “I think they’re a team to watch for different reasons to you guys,” Enable says. “Even if they do well, but other teams do better, you’ve got to wonder… Do they make the switch and add HyDra? He’s been lights out in Challengers. It’s not even if they do well, it’s if they even plateau, I wonder what the mindset is behind Clay.” French wonderkid Paco ‘HyDra’ Rusiewiez was picked up by NYSL at the start of the season, but visa issues kept him from traveling to the US. He’s been a hot topic in the scene — including Enable and Pacman previously saying the squad needs to decide what to do with him. While the New York roster each has individual maps of sheer brilliance, there could become an issue if they don’t start seriously challenging for championships. The Stage 2 Major could spell the beginning of the end if things don’t go well.

  • Enable explains why Florida Mutineers can be a top team in CDL 2021 – Dexerto

Enable explains why Florida Mutineers can be a top team in CDL 2021 ActivisionWhile going through their CDL power rankings for Dexerto’s new Reverse Sweep series, Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt and Jonathan ‘Pacman’ Tucker explain why Florida Mutineers are a dark horse to look out for in the Call of Duty League. As it stands at the end of Stage 1, the teams at the top are very clearly defined. Atlanta FaZe and Dallas Empire are a clear-cut 1 and 2, while the likes of OpTic Chicago, New York Subliners and LA Thieves trail behind. After that — at least, as far as the Reverse Sweep crew explain in Dexerto’s power rankings — there is quite a distance to the mid-pack teams. That’s not to say the rest of the pack can’t cause an upset, and Enable and Pacman believe Florida Mutineers could challenge the very best down the line. With Florida in sixth place in the power rankings, it’s not exactly looking exciting for the squad, but looking just at how much they improved across Stage 1, the Reverse Sweep hosts believe there’s a lot to look forward to. “For me, I think they have the potential to be a top four team in this game,” Enable said. “When I look at them, the players, the talent they have, they can bridge the gap when it comes to that.” He continued: “I was expecting more, and they kind of had a slow start, but now I think that they’re making a consistent improvement, series after series… They’re more comfortable than they were, and I think as time goes on, they’re going to be able to compete with these powerhouse teams.” Timestamp 10:42 Enable adds that Joseph ‘Owakening’ Conley is already a great player, and with former Halo pro Travis ‘Neptune’ McCloud finding his footing, he could be the key to this Florida side surging up the rankings. Read More: Top 10 Moments from CDL Stage 1 Major – Following the Stage 1 Major, the Mutineers find themselves all the way down in 8th place in the official standings, far from where they would want to be. That said, there’s definitely belief within and outside of the Florida camp that they have the potential to compete with the best — they just need to reach that potential.

  • Enable explains why failing OpTic Chicago desperately need to make a roster change – Dexerto

Enable explains why failing OpTic Chicago desperately need to make a roster change Dexerto / CWL / OpTic Chicago OpTic Chicago have, for all their talent, still not picked up a tournament win in the Black Ops Cold War CDL season. With Stage V on the horizon and Champs in sight, Enable believes the only way they’ll win an event is through a roster change. On paper, OpTic Chicago’s roster of FormaL, Scump, Envoy and Dashy has the pure slaying power to overcome any opponent. In practice, though, the team has been limited by poor communication, unnecessary challenges and clashing play-styles. While they still have the raw talent to beat the CDL’s lesser teams, they have consistently proven themselves unable to overcome its stronger ones. Playing Dallas Empire twice at Stage IV, they were soundly beaten by Crimsix and Co in both. Speaking on Dexerto’s Reverse Sweep CDL show, Enable explained that, given the team’s evident problems and their continuation on LAN, the only solution for OpTic is a roster change. “They need to make a change if they wanna win in this game,” he said. “They’re all great players. I think all four of those players could be the superstars on other teams and have success, but they just don’t mesh. Like those four just don’t mesh well when it comes to pacing. I think their overall ideology of how to be successful in Cold War, they all have different opinions. You can see, they’re staggered a lot, their teamwork is hit or miss.” He stated that the team’s wins come from individual brilliance, rather than cohesive and well-organized team play. “When they win the series is when they have multiple players who are ‘on’ individually, and they’re shooting well,” he continued. “They never get that gritty win where no one’s playing well – [when] you have the ability to clutch up.” Echoing Enable’s points was Pacman, who also highlighted their inability to adjust. Citing the two matches versus Dallas Empire, he explained that, despite losing the series comfortably in match one, they pursued the same tactics, strategies and retakes in match two, which they lost 3-0. As the Black Ops Cold War season winds down, OpTic Chicago’s ability to win a tournament and dethrone Atlanta FaZe looks less and less likely.

  • Enable explains why Atlanta FaZe aren’t a dynasty roster – yet – Dexerto

Enable explains why Atlanta FaZe aren’t a dynasty roster – yet Atlanta FaZeAtlanta Faze have been one of the Call of Duty League’s most dominant teams throughout its first two seasons. The team has won five championships but has yet to win a CoD Champs. Which leaves the question: are FaZe a dynasty? Atlanta FaZe have been nothing short of dominant the past two year in the CDL and they’ve done so with a core roster of three players. Chris ‘Simp’ Lehr, Tyler ‘aBeZy’ Pharris, and McArthur ‘Cellium’ Jovel have been part of the roster for the past two years. There have been two other rosters that can be argued as a dynasty in Call of Duty esports history, coL and OpTic Gaming. FaZe is joining in on the conversation after performing time and time again against the world’s best — despite not winning Champs. On Reverse Sweep, our analysts debated why FaZe should or shouldn’t be considered a CoD dynasty. Enable & Pacman argue FaZe dynasty status In just two seasons, Atlanta FaZe have won 5 championships and appeared in 11 grand finals out of 13 tournaments attended. On this episode of Reverse Sweep the question of dynasty status is asked, with Jonathan ‘Pacman’ Tucker explaining that they are. However with all these accolades Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt didn’t believe that FaZe can be considered a dynasty yet. Enable mentions that three of these players have won a ring together, but he said “I think they need to win a ring as a unit.” Read More: CDL 2021 Stage 5 Major – Enable added that if Atlanta is able to win the upcoming CoD Champs, then there is no way to argue that they aren’t a dynasty. The former pro also believes that this team has the chance to be the greatest dynasty of all time if they have a good year next season. FaZe have an average placing of 1.92 across the CDL existence, which is why Pacman believes that FaZe is already one. Pacman claimed that Simp and aBeZy have been at the top of CoD for the past three years. BEST EVER?! 🧐@PacmanJT makes it clear that @ATLFaZe are already a dynasty. 🏆#CDL2021 | Presented by @USAA. pic.twitter.com/99JKnapuk3 — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) July 31, 2021 According to Pacman, FaZe have consistently been at the top and it is almost “boring” to watch these players dominate the game. He said that if FaZe wins Champs in Cold War then “there’s no question that they are the number one dynasty.” The Call of Duty Championship is set to begin August 19 and Atlanta FaZe have a chance to capture their first win as a team. If they do so, they can become the greatest CoD dynasty of all-time.

  • Enable explains how Dallas Empire can become CDL contenders again – Dexerto

Enable explains how Dallas Empire can become CDL contenders again Dexerto / Call of Duty League The Dallas Empire have shaken up their roster, again, and had mixed results. Reverse Sweep’s Enable and Pacman break down how this new team can shift into CDL Champs gear once Vivid and iLLeY buy in. The Empire are now on their third SMG duo of the season, having given up on two other submachine gun partners for 2020 MVP Anthony ‘Shotzzy’ Cuevas. In three games since acquiring Reece ‘Vivid’ Drost, Dallas is 2-1, but, according to the Reverse Sweep crew, more work is needed before they’re a real title threat. First it was Cuyler ‘Huke’ Garland. Then it was Tyler ‘FeLo’ Johnson. Now, it’s Vivid. But Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt and Jonathan ‘Pacman’ Tucker aren’t convinced changing one player will be a final solution for Empire’s inconsistency. Reflecting on the first two Dallas matches since Vivid’s signing, a 3-2 win over the London Royal Ravens and an 0-3 loss to the Toronto Ultra, Enable and Pacman break down what needs to change. And that pressure is put on two players: Vivid and Indervir ‘iLLeY’ Dhaliwal. Both analysts seem to agree that Vivid and iLLeY’s success in Modern Warfare 2019 is essentially detrimental to their game sense in CDL 2021. Comparing the 5v5 game to Black Ops Cold War’s 4v4 offering, they each contend that a shift in thinking is needed. As Enable specifies about iLLeY in particular, “it might be hard to rework his brain on how he thinks Call of Duty should be played.” Enable elaborates that the two high-potential players don’t have any talent issues, but need to follow Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter’s guidance about how to navigate the map. Following a 3-0 sweep of Vivid’s former Los Angeles Guerrillas, the capacity of this Empire squad is legitimized. However, as Pacman and Enable explain, the team needs to keep grinding and learning this “fundamental” game if they want to truly compete with the league’s best.

  • Enable explains controversy over 100 Thieves and FaZe Clan bootcamp situation – Dexerto

Enable explains controversy over 100 Thieves and FaZe Clan bootcamp situation MLG / 100 ThievesCall of Duty star, Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt, has explained the situation with the ongoing ‘bootcamps’ for top CWL Pro League teams, after FaZe Clan were apparently “kicked out”. With the 2019 Call of Duty World Championship quickly approaching, many of the qualified teams were looking to book their spots in boot camps with other top teams ahead of the most prestigious event of the year. Boot camping ahead of events, especially CoD Champs, has become extremely common over recent years as many of the pro league squads prefer to practice in a LAN environment against other teams to best prepare for their run at the $2 million prize pool. Organizing the pre-LAN practice did not go smoothly for every team, however, after FaZe Clan pro Tommy ‘ZooMaa’ Paparatto claimed that he and his roster had been “kicked out of a boot camp” which was set to include Gen.G, Reciprocity and eUnited. The FaZe roster were likely to miss out on valuable practice ahead of CoD champs after ZooMaa shared what had happened and with the 100 Thieves squad seemingly set to take their place at the Pre-LAN, many fans initially pointed the blame towards them. During his July 27 stream, 100 Thieves’ Enable cleared up the controversy by expressing that they had been planning to host their own Pre-LAN until they were invited to the boot camp which was hosted by Gen.G. He then followed up by explaining that the reason for FaZe getting “kicked out” was due to the possibility of them matching up with another team at the bootcamp early in the bracket at the 2019 CWL Championship. “I think FaZe was going, but I think there was a chance that one of the teams there could match up with FaZe or something.” He added, “All I know is they invited us and they kicked FaZe out, but they didn’t kick FaZe out for us.” FaZe Clan are not the only CWL team to be experiencing issues ahead of the 2019 CWL Championship, however, as fan favorites, OpTic Gaming, claim to have been blacklisted – although it’s unclear how realistic this actually is. Each of the teams won’t have long until they battle it out on the big stage, as the Call of Duty World League Championship is set to take place in Los Angeles, California on August 14.

  • Enable explains why Empire have “regressed” in CDL 2021 & might need a roster change – Dexerto

Enable explains why Empire have “regressed” in CDL 2021 & might need a roster change Instagram, @ianenable / Call of Duty LeagueThe Dallas Empire haven’t met the expectations raised by their Call of Duty League Championship in 2020, leading Reverse Sweep’s Enable to suggest that a roster change may be needed. When you win CDL Champs and go into the next season with nearly the exact same roster, expectations are understandably high. Unfortunately, while the Empire are still the second-ranked team in the entire league, they have yet to prove themselves a real threat to win a $500,000 Stage Major. Two stages in, with the third Major on the way, Dallas present more question marks than fear. More concerned than most, Reverse Sweep’s Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt debated the team’s future with co-hosts Katie Bedford and Jonathan ‘Pacman’ Tucker. Boldly professing that he’s not sure if the Empire “can win a Major with this roster,” Enable elaborated on his point to an unconvinced Bedford and Pacman: If other teams are improving while Dallas regress, something’s gotta give. Pacman wasn’t willing to accept Enable’s first hot take at all: “Oh… no, no, no. That’s cap.” Noting that it took Dallas months to find their form in 2020, he specified that Anthony ‘Shotzzy’ Cuevas could be the difference-maker moving forward: “There is this Shotzzy level that he gets to, where he’s ridiculous. And once he gets to that level, it transforms the roster completely. They can win with this roster.” While Enable accepts that argument and agrees he “might have stretched it,” that hope for improvement is directly at odds with what he has seen this season: “They’ve regressed in my opinion. They haven’t improved in game mode.” Elaborating on that perceived regression, Enable explains that Black Ops Cold War isn’t Modern Warfare’s “5v5, where you can thrive off chaos.” Instead, “this is a very structured Call of Duty. And I think that could be a reason why some of the players aren’t performing well.” While Pacman and Bedford agree that the Empire haven’t impressed as much as expected, the former asserts that Dallas is too stacked with star power “to improve on the roster that they have.” Nonetheless, Enable remains uncertain. The former pro is willing to walk his original hot take back a little bit, but still believes the roster is on thinner ice than most are willing to acknowledge: “Maybe I overstepped a little bit with that comment, but I think we need to see something. Because they’re just kind of getting by and other teams are improving at a fast rate.”

  • Enable: Dashy is playing horrible! | CDL Reverse Sweep Review – Dexerto

Enable: Dashy is playing horrible! | CDL Reverse Sweep Review The Reverse Sweep team is back to review the action from Call of Duty League. Join Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt, Jonathan ‘Pacman’ Tucker & Katie Bedford as they discuss the biggest talking points from Stage 2 Week 2. Covering the highs and lows of Stage 2’s midway point, Katie, Enable & Pacman hold nothing back in their Week 2 review! In this week’s episode, the Reverse Sweep crew delve into plenty of juicy talking points… From OpTic Chicago’s slump to crowning Week 2’s most influential players, our trio have got your post-event CDL cravings covered. OpTic’s struggles After failing to pick up a single map against both Minnesota RØKKR and Florida Mutineers, the team delve into why they’ve flopped into such a slump. S&D has been at the apex of the community’s criticism, but Pacman says that there’s a more severe issue at the root. “Something is going on where the comms are not clear, concise, and that’s unacceptable. That’s scary, because that’s hard to fix.” RØKKR’s rookie hero Eli ‘Standy’ Bentz rookie debut had everyone talking! But was there more to RØKKR’s gear shift than meets the eye? Enable provides key insight into why Preston ‘Priestahh’ Greiner’s role shift was the real reason behind their success. “They moved Priestahh to the Flex [role], so that essentially slowed him down a little bit… Making their pacing on-par with one another.” Shotzzy & iLLeY’s lost Cold War potential Dallas Empire lost the Minnesota RØKKR for the second time this season. Despite sitting high in the standings, Enable argues that they’re not fulfilling Indervir ‘iLLeY’ Dhaliwal & Anthony ‘Shotzzy’ Cuevas-Castro potential in Cold War’s 4-vs-4 format. “You’re not getting the production that you did in Modern Warfare out of iLLeY and Shotzzy right now… I feel like there has to be a better way that they can use Shotzzy!” LA Thieves’ slump LA Thieves fell short to both London Royal Ravens & Atlanta FaZe… And given the devastating fashion of their Week 2 losses it’s clear that the squad still have a long way to go. Pacman’s take? They need to change the roster’s core! “I’m not even sure Venom had a clear shot. I don’t know what his stats were, but I’m sure they weren’t great. But that’s not on him! He just came into a core that doesn’t work well together. They just don’t.” The good, the bad & the ugly! After a turning around their fortunes, both RØKKR and Royal Ravens’ Week 2 stars were crowned the Reverse Sweep MVPs! Both Enable & Pacman pick their moments of the week, with Tyler ‘aBeZy’ Pharris’ brutal assassination of Venon making the cut! • Enable Clutches-Up With Massive Three-Piece to Help Team Kaliber Take Hardpoint Against Splyce During CWL Pro League: Stage Two – Dexerto

Enable Clutches-Up With Massive Three-Piece to Help Team Kaliber Take Hardpoint Against Splyce During CWL Pro League: Stage Two New Team Kaliber member Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt clutched up with a massive three-piece to help his team take down Splyce on Ardennes Forest Hardpoint. Although he originally started off as a professional Halo player, Enable decided to switch over to competitive Call of Duty during the Ghosts season in early 2013 full-time. He eventually rose through the ranks of the competitive CoD community in a quick way, which saw him land on a collection of different teams, including the fan-favorite FaZe Clan organization between Advanced Warfare and Infinite Warfare. However, after starting off the CoD: WWII season alongside the veteran Evil Geniuses roster, he parted ways with the squad following turbulent placements. After e brief stint with Lightning Pandas, Enable was added to the Team Kaliber roster with Kenny ‘Kenny’ Williams, Lamar ‘Accuracy’ Abedi, and Maurice ‘Fero’ Henriquez for Stage Two of the CWL Pro League, and the remainder of the CoD: WWII season. When playing their first match against a new-look Splyce Roster, tK managed to come back from a deficit in the beginning Hardpoint match, and ended up taking the first map after Enable clutched-up with a massive three-piece. .@TeamKaliber on top of @Splyce as they come back in the opening Hardpoint 250-244! https://t.co/NKHQSgV6Gh #CWLPS4 :projector:: New tK member @Enable with a big three-piece! pic.twitter.com/9B6bl4gMqm — Call of Duty esports (@CODWorldLeague) May 15, 2018 Following the win, Team Kaliber managed to take the series 3-1 over Splyce, giving them their first victory of the CWL Pro League: Stage Two. • Enable claims Subliners must drop Crimsix or Clayster: “The team won’t improve” – Dexerto

Enable claims Subliners must drop Crimsix or Clayster: “The team won’t improve” CDL / NYSLOn Dexerto’s Reverse Sweep, Call of Duty legend Enable suggested that the Subliners still need to drop either Crimsix or Clayster from their roster to improve the team’s CDL success. After the opening weekend of the 2022 Call of Duty League season, the New York Subliners became the first team of the year to make a roster move. They benched Travis ‘Neptune’ McCloud for Matthew ‘Royalty’ Faithfull, but are still one of two teams that haven’t found a home in the win column. Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt believes that the team still needs to make another move to find success, but it requires moving on from one of their three-time World Champions: Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter or James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks. Enable wants Subliners to make another roster move “”I’m gonna get cooked for this…””@Enable thinks #NYSL should consider more roster moves – and they’re not what you’d expect. pic.twitter.com/ixOxUXtBfl — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) February 14, 2022 In an appearance on Reverse Sweep, Dexerto’s flagship CDL series, Enable said he had a hot take regarding NYSL’s roster move. He claimed that, with Royalty, they “will not improve.” Instead, “I just don’t think you can have Crim and Clay on the same team in 4v4… I think that’s where the real issue stems.” While this duo has teamed up before in 4v4 title Black Ops 2 and won seven championships under Complexity, Enable thinks that they now have similar play styles. He said that it worked in 5v5 because the fifth player made up for their pace. Patrick ‘ACHES’ Price gave his two cents on the duo’s dynamic. Aches, who played on coL with Crim and Clay doesn’t think the problem is with those two. He puts the blame of the roster disaster on NYSL management. Topic starts at 7:22 for mobile viewers “This change for me was a one-for-one lateral move, it changes nothing within this team’s dynamic… This is a NYSL top-level failure, this roster to me just is not going to work.” While the panelists don’t feel that Royalty is a bad player, they think that the swap doesn’t make the squad any better than before and would require a second move to see drastic improvement.

  • Enable channels Michael Jordan as he returns to Seattle starting lineup – Dexerto

Enable channels Michael Jordan as he returns to Seattle starting lineup Call of Duty LeagueSeattle Surge’s Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt announced his return to active Call of Duty League competition as only he could – with a hilarious Michael Jordan-inspired press release. Following a tumultuous start to the inaugural CDL season, Seattle Surge rotated Enable to the bench on February 14. While Casey ‘Pandur’ Romano joined the starting lineup, Enable assured that the transition “lit a fire” and that he would be grinding to earn his spot back. A few months later and the Seattle Surge has made a shift once again as Enable announced his return to the starting squad with a Michael Jordan-inspired post. A May 12 press release regarding Enable’s future in the competitive scene featured just two words: “I’m back.” Akin to six-time Chicago Bulls champion and arguable basketball GOAT Michael Jordan’s iconic 1995 fax that revealed his return to the NBA after a shock two-year departure, Enable stylishly announced his return to Call of Duty’s top league. After 88 days on the bench, having missed out on four Home Series events with the Surge, the former Halo champion and CoD veteran is back in the mix. Ahead of the Seattle Surge Home Series on May 22, the ‘hometown’ team will have its initial core back together. Sam ‘Octane’ Larew, Josiah ‘Slacked’ Berry, Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow, and Bryan ‘Apathy’ Zhelyazkov will be back in action with their original fifth roster member. “Really excited to bring Enable back on the starting lineup,” Seattle head coach Joey ‘Nubzy’ DiGiacomo said. “Especially going into our home series.” Sitting at 10th place overall, the star-studded lineup is looking to come out with a bang at the next event. Following on from a top-four finish in the April 26 Chicago Huntsmen Home Series – the team’s best placement to date – they’re gunning for the top spot. “This team is going to function as a family, and Ian is a great piece to facilitate that. It’s time to make a statement and show why this is a team of winners,” Nubzy continued in his comments made after the official Surge announcement. Really excited to bring @Enable back on the starting lineup, especially going into our home series. This team is going to function as a family, and Ian is a great piece to facilitate that. It’s time to make a statement and show why this is a team of winners. #DrownThemOut— Joey (@JoeyNubzy) May 13, 2020 Having passed the halfway point in the 2020 regular season, teams have been shuffling rosters a great deal. OpTic Gaming moved Jordan ‘JKap’ Kaplan to the bench and bid farewell to head coach Jonathan ‘Pacman’ Tucker . Meanwhile, Chicago Huntsmen could be bringing the twins back together, as Preston “Prestinni” Sanderson has been eyed to fill the shoes of Gunless. Enable will be back in action with the Seattle Surge on May 22. His first series back will see him squaring off with the New York Subliners.

  • Enable: CDL posting OpTic vs FaZe ‘Inside the Comms’ video was too far – Dexerto

Enable: CDL posting OpTic vs FaZe ‘Inside the Comms’ video was too far Activision/YouTube: Dexerto Call of DutyDuring the latest episode of the Reverse Sweep CDL review show, Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt, Jonathan ‘Pacman’ Tucker and Katie Bedford discussed the controversial ‘Inside the Comms’ video posted by the CDL. Taken from the Opening Weekend of the Call of Duty League’s 2021 season, the League posted a 9-minute video of the comms between OpTic Chicago and Atlanta FaZe. It consisted of a whole lot of trash talk and behind-the-scenes discussion that, typically, would remain solely behind the curtain. After it was posted online for fans to see, many pros were astounded, including the OpTic players who were very clearly upset about it. As former pros themselves, Enable and Pacman discussed the situation on Reverse Sweep — and both believe that it was wrong of the CDL to post, especially without the players’ consent. Read More: Call of Duty League 2021 Power Rankings – “I think when you do those comms, it should be strictly for comedic relief,” Enable said. “When it gets really into the sh*t talk and actual strategy, that’s where I think it’s a little bit too far over the line.” He then goes on to say that it’s “pretty obvious” that they should have “cut out all the stuff that shouldn’t be in the video.” Pacman seconded this statement, saying that “of course fans love it,” but that he “doesn’t know how you make that mistake.” They compared the video to traditional sports, such as the NFL Mic’d Up videos, adding that there’s “never anything important” in those — it’s mostly just rambling and unimportant chatter, but that fans still love it. Katie added the very important point that if you’re giving teams the illusion of privacy, the CDL should have at least sent teams the video first to ask which parts should be cut. Needless to say, the video caused a huge stir, and the league will definitely be a little more careful next time they post an Inside the Comms video.

  • Enable believes FormaL’s IW showing is best CoD Champs performance ever – Dexerto

Enable believes FormaL’s IW showing is best CoD Champs performance ever MLG / CWL / Dexerto Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt has pinpointed Matthew ‘FormaL’ Piper’s Infinite Warfare showing as the best Call of Duty Championships performance of all time, despite some marked competition from Simp, Crimsix, and ACHES. For all the hype surrounding major tournaments, nothing in the professional CoD calendar arouses as much interest as CoD Champs. The annual event sees players given the unique opportunity to earn a championship ring – and offers the most lucrative prize pool. CoD Champs 2021, ending the Black Ops Cold War season, will see $5 million put on the line. Naturally, winning such a big event takes composure, preparation, and talent. We’ve seen some truly memorable performances at CoD Champs over the years but, for Enable, FormaL’s performance at Infinite Warfare’s Champs stands out as the all-time best. Any fan of competitive CoD will know of OpTic Gaming’s success at the 2017 World Championships, cementing the ring for the dynasty roster – widely considered the best Call of Duty team ever assembled. While the pressure was on OpTic following their failures at the Champs of Advanced Warfare and Black Ops III, they more than rose to the challenge. However, FormaL was the stand out with his NV4, as Enable highlighted in a recent Reverse Sweep. “The best individual performance at Call of Duty Champs is going to none other than OpTic Gaming’s very own FormaL in Infinite Warfare,” he said. “It was the only time the Dynasty got a CoD Champs win… I played at this event. FormaL had the most insane event I think I have ever seen in my life. From top to bottom, it didn’t matter the mode.” He continued: “‘I’m pretty sure overall, counting bracket play, he had like a 1.5 K/D. Which is unheard of. Legitimately a 1.5. He was just doing everything. They won two best-of-fives versus EnVy. It was crazy. He looked by far the best player that I’ve ever seen. Like Usain Bolt in his prime – when he’s jogging and still like 4 feet in front of the next guy who’s second. That was FormaL.” It was never going to go down without a discussion though. Pacman chose the duo of ACHES and Crim in Ghosts, while Katie opted for Simp in Black Ops 4. They’re all good shouts, but we’d struggle to look past FormaL’s dominance in Infinite Warfare as well.

  • Enable argues why OpTic Chicago are the best they’ve been in CDL 2021 – Dexerto

Enable argues why OpTic Chicago are the best they’ve been in CDL 2021 Dexerto / Call of Duty League After a middling Stage 3 in the Call of Duty League, OpTic Chicago showed real promise during the Stage 3 Major. The Reverse Sweep crew took note, with Enable arguing that this is the best OpTic has looked in 2021. In Stage 3, OpTic went 2-3 with their only two wins coming against the bottom-dwelling Seattle Surge and London Royal Ravens. Then, in the Stage 3 Major, the team made a serious Losers Bracket run — winning three straight before falling to the Toronto Ultra in Map 5 of Losers Round 4. While Chicago fell short, Ian ‘Enable’ Wyatt took some time to posit that they’re making real progress and are playing better than they ever have in Black Ops Cold War. During the Reverse Sweep, Enable analyzed OpTic’s new form alongside Jonathan ‘Pacman’ Tucker and Katie Bedford. Most agree that the CDL’s top three teams right now are the Atlanta FaZe, New York Subliners, and Toronto Ultra. The question remains: Is OpTic fourth? And, more importantly, are they on the precipice of breaking into the upper echelon? Although Enable grounds his analysis by affirming that OpTic is likely the fourth- or fifth-best team right now, he believes they’re on the right trajectory: “This was probably their best Call of Duty they’ve played as a team so far in Cold War.” Pacman joined in, explaining how the Stage 3 performance showed a new level of prowess from the Green Wall: “This weekend they had a lot of teamwork, they showed a lot of teamwork. They weren’t over-challing, they were pushing together, so it made them look phenomenal.” Both analysts were encouraged by OpTic’s form, but remained cautious. Sweeping Dallas was nice, but it took a 2.15 K/D from Brandon ‘Dashy’ Otell. Going five maps against Toronto was even better, but it took a 1.24 K/D from the flex AR. Enable and Pacman note that the team needs to find ways to compete without relying on such big performances from Dashy. Even if this is the best OpTic has looked all season, that still wasn’t enough to win a Major and progress still needs to be made. As Pacman cautioned, “I’ve seen them do this before, where they hit this form where they look really good … but then it just disappears.” Touching on those consistency issues, Enable asserts that all OpTic can do is try and grow on their production instead of slipping back into mediocrity: “They’re so talented, you’ve just got to kind of put it together. And it seems like they’re maybe starting to, maybe they’re on the right track now.” OpTic will start their own Stage 4 Home Series off against the Minnesota ROKKR on May 28 before facing a taller test against the Atlanta FaZe on May 30.

  • Enable argues that SlasheR is approaching “Parasite territory” & CDL blacklist – Dexerto

Enable argues that SlasheR is approaching “Parasite territory” & CDL blacklist Twitter, @LAThieves / Call of Duty LeagueAfter the Call of Duty League’s Stage 2 Major, Reverse Sweep’s Enable offers up a hot take: the LA Thieves’ success and happiness without SlasheR could mean the star veteran is trending toward being blacklisted by CDL teams. Personalities often clash in competitive team environments, as hunger for victory is approached differently by different people. That has long been the case in Call of Duty and those clashes have often dictated team chemistries. After seeing the Los Angeles Thieves not only perform better without Austin ‘SlasheR’ Liddicoat, but also simply seem…happier, the Reverse Sweep crew dove into the player’s future. When asked by Katie Bedford who their LVP (Least Valuable Player) was for the Stage 2 Major, Enable told the crew that his choice would be SlasheR. Shocked by Enable’s decision to choose a player who hadn’t even played a map, Jonathan ‘Pacman’ Tucker and his co-analyst dove into speculation about the renowned AR. The central question appears to be a difficult one: If LA plays better without SlasheR, does that mean he is too difficult a personality for other teams to gamble on? After surprising the group by choosing SlasheR as LVP, Enable explains his reasoning: “The team looked way better! Who would have thought?” Later, he elaborated and garnered some agreement from Pacman and Bedford. After Enable noted that the Thieves “looked way better” and looked like they were enjoying themselves, Pacman agreed that “they did look like they were having fun” out there. And this was also noticed by Katie, who pointed out just how different the team’s vibe was: “They smiled, they talked!” This leads to the crux of the point for Enable, who believes that “we’re starting to turn the tides where he’s getting the Parasite treatment, it’s starting to go that way — where it’s not ‘oh, you got to have tough skin to play with Austin’ it’s ‘we can’t play with him.’” Or, as Pacman phrases it, “you’ve got to put up with Austin.” While SlasheR had formerly been considered a highly respected, albeit sometimes difficult teammate, Enable thinks he’s approaching thin ice. Using Christopher ‘Parasite’ Duarte as an example is apt, as the player has been inconsistently rostered for a long time now, all due to questions about character rather than talent. In the past, Enable argues that people used to frame SlasheR’s mindset positively: “He’s a champion, he’s a leader, he’s got the Michael Jordan mindset.” Now, he’s not so sure. If the Thieves continue improving without the veteran, the Reverse Sweep crew is concerned that other teams may not be willing to gamble on picking him up due to character concerns.

  • Empire coach Rambo hits back at criticism for dropping Huke: “It’s not a friendship league” – Dexerto

Empire coach Rambo hits back at criticism for dropping Huke: “It’s not a friendship league” Dallas Empire/Call of Duty LeagueDallas Empire’s Call of Duty League coach Ray ‘Rambo’ Lussier has spoken out about the team’s controversial decision to drop Cuyler ‘Huke’ Garland back in April, saying that the backlash hurt but it was a necessary step to win championships. The Empire received huge backlash when the move was first announced, especially since he was by far their best player throughout Stage 1. Since then, Huke joined LA Thieves and has been in and out of the starting line-up, confirming some critics’ suspicions that maybe he actually wasn’t the standout, game-changing talent some thought he might have been. It’s been a tough season for all parties involved, but Rambo has explained that there was simply no other option. Appearing on stream for a Q&A session with viewers, Rambo was asked about the Huke situation and spoke about it in-depth. Read More: Can John solve LA Thieves’ CDL problems? – “This sounds crazy, but I think I’ve worked my reputation enough to really showcase that we’re not just going to do something out of spite or for the wrong reasons,” Rambo explained. “We’re going to do something because our team isn’t successful, we need a change.” He added: “ It’s not a friendship league. You’re getting paid to win tournaments and you want to win tournaments… If a teammate doesn’t allow you to do that, that’s going to hurt whatever relationship you have with the player.” Rambo added that, as far as he knows, there is no bad blood between Huke and the rest of the team, though he does have “a little bit” of a problem with the player “from the conversations we had after the fact.” Dallas looked very good at their last outing, coming second at the Stage 4 Major and pushing Atlanta FaZe to a game 9 in the grand final, with each player firing on all cylinders and looking like championship winners again. Time is running out for Dallas to win a championship this season, with just the Stage 5 Major and the as-yet-unannounced Call of Duty Championship event left. Can they get the better of Atlanta FaZe by the end of the season?

  • “Embarrassing” Rick Grimes voice lines have MW3 players avoiding the skin – Dexerto

“Embarrassing” Rick Grimes voice lines have MW3 players avoiding the skin ActivisionThe MW3 Walking Dead collaboration in the Season 2 Battle Pass is under scrutiny after discovering “embarrassing” Rick Grimes voice lines. MW3 recently revealed that the upcoming season’s Battle Pass would feature a collaboration with the popular AMC show “The Walking Dead” starring Rick Grimes and Michonne. The skins would accompany an in-game event, giving players an exclusive Walking Dead weapon camo. The achievable weapon camo has already been called “garbage” by fans after it was initially revealed. Now, Rick Grimes’ skin has been added to the list for its voice lines, which were not done by the original actor. Modern Warfare has had multiple operator bundles released in previous years that were based on another person’s likeness. For example, the Nicki Minaj bundle released during MW2 had her as the voice for the lines. Unfortunately, Rick Grimes’ skin was not given equal treatment with this collaboration. MW3 players slam Rick Grimes’ voice actor In a post made to the MW3 subreddit, a user shared a video of some of the voice lines associated with the Rick Grimes skin. None of which reference the actual show or sound like the original actor, Andrew Lincoln. “This is the thing I was most excited about for the Rick skin,” said one commenter. “Having his gritty voice lines in the game and then we get this sh*t.” Many shared the sentiment, expressing their anticipation of the iconic Rick Grimes voice with the upcoming skin. However, it seems that the skin set to release alongside Season 2 will not feature anything iconic from the character. “Honestly, it makes me not even wanna use him,” agreed another. “That’s embarrassing.” For those who are still interested in getting the skin for themselves, Rick Grimes comes with the Season 2 Battle Pass as an instant unlock. There are no in-game challenges or additional charges needed to retrieve the skin.

  • Elevate set to buy Excelerate Gaming’s CWL Pro League spot for surprisingly low price – Dexerto

Elevate set to buy Excelerate Gaming’s CWL Pro League spot for surprisingly low price Notorious Call of Duty esports leaker CoDBurner has released new information about Excelerate Gaming, claiming that the organization have sold their spot in the CWL Pro League to Elevate for a surprisingly low amount. The CoDBurner first appeared back in April 2018, and has been releasing insider knowledge about Call of Duty esports ever since, pulling back the curtain and giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at their favorite teams and players. With Call of Duty’s roster transfer period open until Monday, April 22, it appears that another major change could be announced before the deadline, if the CoDBurners intel is accurate. What is happening to Excelerate’s CWL Pro League spot? According to CoDBurner, Excelerate’s time in the CWL Pro League has come to and end, with the mysterious figure stating that the organization has offloaded their spot to another team. This isn’t the first time that Excelerate have attempted to move on from the CWL Pro League. On March 7, it was reported that Excelerate were attempting to sell their place in the Pro League, but were unsuccessful in the first transfer period. How much did Elevate pay for the spot? A name that most Call of Duty esports fans will recognize, Elevate are the team who have purchased the Excelerate Gaming spot according to the CoDBurner. The leaker states that the organization paid just $25,000 for the spot, almost half as much as Excelerate were reportedly asking for back in March. If the rumors are accurate, this will be the first time Elevate have been seen in professional Call of Duty since August 2018, when a roster that included Michael ‘SpaceLy’ Schmale and Jared ‘Nagafen’ Harrell finished in the top eight at the Call of Duty World Championships. While it appears that Elevate have secured Excelerate spot in the league, CoDBurner suggests that the organization were also attempting to purchase Red Reserve’s spot, although that appears to have gone to FaZe Clan. Whether Elevate will hold on to the current Excelerate roster is currently unknown, but with the roster transfer period closing on April 22, it will be interesting to see which organizations will line up when the CWL Pro League returns on Monday, May 13.

Elevate return to CWL Pro League with brand new roster Elevate / MLGNorth American esports organization Elevate are back in the thick of things within Call of Duty esports, having found their way back into the CWL Pro League. On April 19, Elevate announced their re-entry into the CWL Pro League after having successfully purchased the spot of Excelerate Gaming, confirming what had been heavily speculated in the days leading up to the sale. In addition to competing in the Pro League, Elevate will also compete at the upcoming CWL London major tournament, taking ExG’s spot in Pool D. Elevate’s new CWL Pro League roster As per CWL rules, Elevate had to keep at least one player from ExG’s roster to be eligible for the Pro League. The team has, in fact, decided to keep three – ProFeeZy, Skyz, and MRuiz – with Brack moving to Denial Esports and JetLi entering free agency. The other two roster spots have been filled by former Denial players Wailers and Breszy. Here is Elevate’s new roster heading into CWL London the remaining weeks of the Pro League: Cesar ‘Skyz’ Bueno – Christopher ‘ProFeeZy’ Astudillo – Mike ‘MRuiz’ Ruiz – Wailers ‘Wailers’ Locart – Paul ‘Breszy’ Breszynski – Makes sure to keep up with all of the roster changes made during the April 5-22 window by visiting our CWL London RosterMania hub. Excelerate leave rocky legacy in Pro League Having sold their spot in the CWL Pro League, Excelerate are officially out of the pro scene in CoD esports, and the legacy they left will be considered rocky at best. The negativity surrounding the org first started when they controversially dropped FA5TBALLA from their starting lineup just a week into the Pro League, which prompted heavy backlash from the rest of the community. 400This was followed by an anonymous source publicly accusing the org of blackmailing their players and refusing to pay salary, which some feel was indirectly confirmed to be the case by CEO Justin Tan. This was all on top of the fact that the team managed just a 3-8 record in Division B, not to mention lowly performances at both CWL Vegas and Fort Worth

  • Elevate announce new Call of Duty pro roster featuring two new players – Dexerto

Elevate announce new Call of Duty pro roster featuring two new players ElevateGG – TwitterNorth American esports organization Elevate have revealed their new pro roster for the Call of Duty World League, and it includes two newcomers from the most recent RosterMania period. On June 21, Elevate announced that they’ve brought on veteran Andres ‘Lacefield’ Lacefield and Austin ‘Believe’ Smith to their starting lineup. The new recruits will fill the two open spots left on the roster after Cesar ‘Skyz’ Bueno and Paul ‘Breszy’ Breszynski moved on to Luminosity Gaming and Enigma6 Group respectively. This new-look roster will represent Elevate in the remaining weeks of the CWL Pro League, the CWL Finals, if the team manages to qualify for the Playoffs, and the CWL Championship. Also brought on board is Nathaniel ‘Pentagrxm’ Thomas, who will be replacing Lucas ‘rizK’ Derambure as the designated substitute. Christopher “ProFeeZy” Astudillo – Andres “Lacefield” Lacefield – Wailers “Wailers” Locart – Mike “MRuiz” Ruiz – Austin “Believe” Smith – Nathaniel ‘Pentagrxm’ Thomas (sub) – Lacefield joins Elevate after having represented Midnight Esports since March, failing to place in the top 10 of any of the three major events he competed in while with the team. Prior to playing for Midnight, the veteran had been with G2 Esports, but was unable to qualify for the CWL Pro League after the team came short in the qualifier tournament. As for Believe, this will be his first pro experience since being dropped from Excelerate Gaming back in March. Since then, he’s played for Nemesis Esports and Mazer Gaming, with whom he came in second at the CWL Anaheim Open Bracket tournament. Elevate will hope that the addition of the two new players will inject some energy and urgency into a squad that hasn’t been performing all too well in the Pro League. The team is currently in fifth place in Division B, but are a whole two games behind Splyce for the fourth seed, the final spot that guarantees automatic entry into the Playoffs. With just four games remaining on the schedule, it’s unlikely that Elevate will be able to make up enough ground to sneak into the Playoffs directly, but will still have the chance to qualify via the Play-In tournament. If they are to catch Splyce, they’ll have to do it the hard way, as their schedule consists of matches against OpTic Gaming, Gen.G, and the red-hot Team Reciprocity.

  • Eight ways to improve Call of Duty’s Blackout ahead of launch – Dexerto

Eight ways to improve Call of Duty’s Blackout ahead of launch The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout beta turned out to be an incredibly successful one for developers, Treyarch, and publishers, Activision. After initially launching on PS4 for the first couple of days, it was then the turn of fans on PC and Xbox to get their shot at what is being touted by some as the best battle royale experience yet. The combination of Call of Duty’s movement mechanics to navigate the map, the well-sized landscape and smooth shooting experience has left fans salivating for more. While the release date of October 12 seems incredibly far away, everyone at Dexerto is hoping that the time will give Treyarch the chance to fix some of Blackout’s less than perfect elements. Below we’ve pulled together eight of our biggest issues that we’d love fixed for release, thanks Vondy. 1. Changes to armor On top of people with level 3 armor being incredibly difficult to kill, the random element of finding decent armor could determine whether you’d win or lose a game, discouraging some players from fighting one another for fear of damaging their armor for the late game. One solution to the problem is to increase the volume of armor available or allow players to carry an extra piece to use during the later stages of the game. Others have suggested removing it entirely. 2. Fixed loot spawns 3. Drop with a pistol Dropping with a pistol would at least allow you to defend yourself while you find a better weapon. While dropping without a weapon is a common practice in most BR games, it doesn’t mean it has to be the same for Blackout. 4. Improved inventory/loot system (console) The swipe through system just wasn’t efficient enough, especially when trying to either outrun the circle or ensure you’re not out in the open for too long to avoid enemy fire. The option to use a block system similar to the PC version would make far more sense than what is currently available. 5. Drop just the weapon, not the attachments Considering how difficult it is to find different equipment such as scopes, it seemed odd that if you dropped and picked up a new weapon, you’d lose all of it unless you physically took it off beforehand. 6. Animated victory screen ft killcam It might seem like that’s too easy, but with bullets from the same range dealing different amounts of damage, seemingly at random, it actually helps provide some balance.

  • Echo Fox’s Faccento Pulls Off Genius Strategy to Ninja Defuse vs Evil Geniuses – Dexerto

Echo Fox’s Faccento Pulls Off Genius Strategy to Ninja Defuse vs Evil Geniuses Echo Fox player Brice “Faccento” Faccento brilliantly executed a 1v1 strategy against Evil Geniuses’ Adam “Assault” Garcia, outplaying him to ninja defuse at the CWL Pro League. Both Echo Fox and Evil Geniuses played twice on the first day back at the CWL Pro League for Division A, and both had won their first series of the day before going head to head. Echo Fox took down CWL Anaheim runners-up and current favorites to win Division A, Red Reserve in the opening match, winning in game five as they look to secure top four for playoffs. Evil Geniuses took advantage of Red Reserve’s loss to go top of the Division with a win over Epsilon next, however, their weakness in Search and Destroy continued as they won 3-1. More: CWL Pro League Stage 2 Division A Recap for Day One of Week Five – Scores, Match Recaps, and Live Standings – The two teams faced off against each other next, and it was a difficult match to call initially, with EG sitting on top of Division A, but Echo Fox had of course already beaten the favorites, Red Reserve. Map one was a close hardpoint but Echo Fox came out on top, and with Evil Geniuses terrible S&D record recently, map two looked almost a foregone conclusion. And after Faccento pulled off this incredibly smart ninja defuse in round two, Evil Geniuses couldn’t regain composure. Baiting Assault with a bullet, Faccento immediately backed up down the mid-street on Saint Marie, and then perfectly timed a smoke grenade to trick Assault into believing he was holding his position. Meanwhile, Faccento hopped the bomb. The play unsurprisingly won the Scuf play of the game, and was lauded by caster and analyst John “Revan” Boble. “So Assault is expecting the rechallenge because he takes the first bullet in that engagement, so Assault had less health. He’s expecting a rechallenge from Faccento. And Faccento is like ‘I’m going to back up, and because I’m backing up that opens up an opportunity if you were to push out towards the white jeep, then I’d just get mowed down. So, he throws down the smoke, and you could see, it plays on the back of the mind of Assault, ‘is he still around this area, is he going to push through the smoke?’ – and Faccento just gets the easy defuse.” Evil Geniuses will play their rivals for the top spot Red Reserve next, while Echo Fox take on Team Kaliber, with matches resuming on Wednesday, June 27th at 11 am PT.

Temp, who started the season with Team EnVy, has been involved in several spells of drama this season, including a drawn out and publicized locking of horns with Doug ‘Censor’ Martin and some questionable comments he made about former player Matt ‘Nadeshot’ Haag. Most recently, the targets of his critical comments were none other than OpTic Gaming’s Seth ‘Scump’ Abner and Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter. Temp was appearing as a guest on the Call of Duty podcast show ‘The CoDCast’ when he was asked by host Anthony ‘NAMELESS’ Wheeler about who he felt was the most fake professional player in the competitive scene. Temp went a step further and offered the name of both of the OpTic superstars. “I’m going to have to go with, whoa, actually wait lowkey, I’ll probably say Seth or Crim, right now. Probably one of them two.” At the end of the day, credit must be given to Temp for not being afraid of speaking his mind, especially since he will most likely receive heavy backlash from OpTic fans, who are known to react quickly when their favorite team and/or players are spoken of in a negative way. Even NAMELESS pointed that out after Temp made his comments. “The one team you don’t touch with a question like. You just leave OpTic, you don’t say that. Now you’re getting toasted.” – The clip of Temp’s comments can be seen down below, and the entirety of Episode #7 of The CoDCast can be seen on NAMELESS’ official YouTube channel.

  • EBGames Retail Listing for Black Ops 4 Implies Zombies are in Blackout – Dexerto

EBGames Retail Listing for Black Ops 4 Implies Zombies are in Blackout Retailer EBGames has posted a new description of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on their website that hints at an unannounced feature coming to the battle royale-style Blackout mode. Blackout was already confirmed to feature characters and weapons from the Black Ops Zombies universe, but players may actually see the undead themselves on the map as well. As spotted by reddit user Coldmonkey67, the EBGames listing for Black Ops 4 contained a new description of Blackout. The wording of the description is what is causing speculation, since Zombies is listed near other ingame items – not characters. … featuring weapons; equipment; land, sea and air vehicles; RC-XD’s; traps and even Zombies. Will zombies be an item that can be used to give players an advantage, or was that just an awkward phrasing of already known information? Although Black Ops 4 had one of the biggest information reveals in Call of Duty history for multiplayer and Zombies, the all-new Blackout mode was kept mysterious. Player count, map size and other gameplay elements are being kept hidden and the Blackout beta will be seperate from the multiplayer beta. • Easy ways to get longshots on Rust in Modern Warfare: lines of sight – Dexerto

Easy ways to get longshots on Rust in Modern Warfare: lines of sight Infinity Ward / YouTube – Cosen GamesThere are surprisingly plenty of places to get longshots on the new Rust map in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 2, and we’ve got a guide that shows all the necessary lines of sight. One of the most iconic maps in Call of Duty history, Rust was remastered from its MW2 version and added in Modern Warfare as part of the recently-released Season 2 content drop. A lot of players love the sandy, industrial map because of how small it is, meaning you’re almost always in the action and there are plenty of opportunities to rack up a high kill-count. One disadvantage, on paper anyway, is that it might be too small for certain weapon challenges, such as longshots, which players are required to get on every gun if they’re trying to unlock the gold, platinum and Damascus camos. However, that’s actually a misconception. Turns out that there are numerous lines of sight on Rust that can produce longshot medals. The visual guide below, courtesy of Reddit user ‘molyneuxluke,’ shows 10 different angles that you can shoot from to get longshots. Keep in mind that this applies to assault rifles online, meaning you might not be credited with a medal for other categories of weapons. The arrows on the image are color-coded based on difficulty: the green ones are the easiest to get, the yellow one is intermediate, and the red one is the hardest because you have to shoot through the low opening at the bottom of the large central structure. Read More: 2 more CoD 4 maps found in MW game files – Several of these lines of sight can also serve multiple purposes, depending on the game you’re playing. For example, in Domination, you can use a few of these not only to get your longshots but also defend/attack the three flags. A few are also power positions, which is obviously a bonus because it means you can go for the medals while also having a stronger position on the map than your enemies. Considering how, next to Shipment, Rust is probably the most action-packed map in Modern Warfare, it’s one that you should definitely try to take full advantage of to level up your guns and unlock more camos. While it may seem too small to get certain challenges completed, don’t be fooled and use this guide to get those long-range kills on your quest to Completionist and even Damascus.

  • Easy Warzone trick makes Cluster Strikes 100% accurate – Dexerto

Easy Warzone trick makes Cluster Strikes 100% accurate Infinity WardThis simple Warzone trick allows Call of Duty players to make the most out of the popular Cluster Strike killstreak, with near-perfect accuracy on every use. It can be quite challenging to pick up wins in Warzone compared to other battle royale titles, with up to 150 players gunning for the top spot in every match. Players will often look towards the different Buy Stations scattered around Verdansk to give themselves an edge over their opponents with options such as custom loadouts and killstreaks on offer. One of the killstreaks that many players opt for when looking to rack up wins is the Cluster Strike, which only costs $3,000 and can be devastating to enemy players when used correctly. Due to the nature of the killstreak, players need to mark their opponents using a targeting laser which becomes more difficult to aim at a distance. However, Warzone player u/LeagueofSOAD has shared a quick “pro tip” that can guarantee accurate bombing strikes even during long-range gunfights. Instead of lining up the Cluster Strike with the targeting laser, players can simply use the scope or sight of their primary weapon to ADS on their opponent and, without moving the camera, switch to the killstreak again to trigger the bombing run on that exact location. Although it is fairly simple to execute, the fan received a lot of support on their post from many Warzone players who were unaware of this clever tactic. Accurate cluster strikes can do a lot for players in Warzone when used tactically, such as wiping out opponents who are in power positions like rooftops in late-game fights. The only potential downside to this trick is that it can take a little bit longer than usual to trigger the killstreak, potentially endangering you if you’re caught standing still out in the open. • “Easy to use” Warzone AR is new meta after surprise buff – Dexerto

“Easy to use” Warzone AR is new meta after surprise buff One of the community’s leading analysts has praised an assault rifle that received a surprise buff as now being one of the best ARs in Warzone thanks to its incredible ease of use. Ever since the Season 2 update, the Call of Duty developers have been busy implementing smaller weapon changes to keep the meta feeling fresh. From the TAQ Evolvere’s rework to the MCW’s sizable buffs, Warzone’s meta has been shifting fast. Another surprise update was released on February 21, 2024, which primarily focused on Richochet, Warzone’s anti-cheat. However, there were also weapon tweaks that have had a far bigger impact than first anticipated. The MTZ-556 was one of the weapons affected, receiving a huge buff that saw several key stats improved. This buff not only reduced the rifle’s recoil but also increased its damage and damage range making it much more lethal. Overlooked Warzone assault rifle is meta after surprise buff In his most recent video covering the buff, Warzone analyst TrueGameData praised the MTZ-556 describing it as “easier to use,” than the RAM-7, Bruen Mk9, and Holger 26 while also highlighting how it offers a superior TTK up to 48 meters, which can be further improved by using attachments. Here is the MTZ-556 loadout recommended by TrueGameData that makes the most out of the AR’s strengths: Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor – Barrel: MTZ Drifter Heavy Long Barrel – Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x – Stock: MTZ Marauder Stock – Magazine: 50 Round Drum – Impressed by the MTZ-556’s post-buff performance, TrueGameData expressed, “The MTZ is probably going to be the meta for long range or just an easier to use weapon,” and described it as the, “Best low recoil AR right now.” One of the most impressive segments featured a recoil comparison between the MTZ-556 and the meta SVA 545. The SVA 545 is an AR that many consider to be extremely accurate, but the MTZ-556 produces half the overall recoil making it much easier to control than even the SVA 545. According to WZRanked, the wider Warzone community has yet to adopt the MTZ-556 with it being the 19th most used weapon with just a 0.48% usage rate as of February 22, 2024. However, that is expected to change as more players catch on to how strong this newly buffed AR is.

  • Easy Black Ops 4 trick lets players strafe faster while aiming down sights – Dexerto

Easy Black Ops 4 trick lets players strafe faster while aiming down sights Apart from gunskill, one of the most important skills players need to master in order to succeed in any Call of Duty title is movement, and Black Ops 4 is no exception. Skilled movement can often be the difference between life and death in Black Ops 4, and it allows players to win gunfights against enemy players that may have equal or better gunskill. One of the important aspects of movement is strafing while aiming down sights (ADS). Players who can strafe well without compromising their aim have an instant advantage because they become a harder target to hit against enemy players who may be shooting back from a standstill position. One good way to further take advantage of strafing is by doing it faster, which can be accomplished by simply spamming the ADS button while strafing instead of holding it down continuously. Read More: Black Ops 4 v1.11 patch brings Multiplayer balancing, Blackout looting improvements, and more – January 15 Patch Notes – A good demonstration of this can be seen in the video published by ‘Flatpacked,’ which shows how much faster one can strafe by taking advantage of this method. The reason why this method is so effective is that it expands upon the advantages that strafing provides without compromising the ability to shoot at any instant. This means that players become a lot more difficult to shoot at, all while the strafing player still has nearly the same level of shooting ability as if they were holding down the ADS button. Additionally, this method also allows players to peak lanes and gather information without risking their life, especially since the time to kill in BO4 is longer than usual and the opponent simply will not get the chance to go for the kill unless they are sniping. The reason why this mechanic works the way it does is because aiming naturally causes strafing to slow down. By spamming the ADS button, the small instances between each click returns the strafe speed back to normal, and all that, added up, results in a noticeable difference.

  • Early leaks push Warzone devs to reveal radioactive Nuke skin on the way soon – Dexerto

Early leaks push Warzone devs to reveal radioactive Nuke skin on the way soon ActivisionFollowing some early leaks of a lethal new Warzone skin plucked from the game’s Season 1 update files, devs took the change to make things official, unveiling an upcoming Nuke skin in the works. Warzone Season 1 is finally upon us as Activision looks to make good on its long-awaited promise of revitalizing the CoD BR. And barring some early error messages, thousands are now flooding the game’s servers to check out the major update. Be it the Urzikstan map with dozens of new POIs to explore, a meta-shifting balance patch for players to wrap their heads around, or even surprise game mechanics added to the mix, there’s plenty to see and do. But as always with a live service game, this is just the beginning. Already looking to the future, some early datamined intel spilled out online in the hours following the Season 1 patch. In particular, fans got their first look at a wild new skin on the way, one devs soon took the opportunity to make official. First leaked by prominent CoD code dippers at the ‘CoDWarfareForum’ Twitter account, they spotted what’s been coined the ‘Warzone Nuke Skin’. An accompanying image showed a devastated Operator, one seemingly impacted by a nuclear blast. With fire running through their veins, a cracked helmet, and an ominous glow, the visual of the cosmetic certainly lived up to its name. Though this first-look quickly paved the way for a more in-depth showcase. Raven Software replied to our sister site CharlieIntel with a 31-second clip showing the Operator skin off in all its glory. “Don’t know what this is,” the devs joked. “We like this one. Coming soon.” Now seeing it in motion, it appears this nuclear skin radiates heat, with a constant visual effect on its body signifying as much. This newer and official version of the skin also has an updated helmet, with a skull in place of the former cracked cosmetic. At the time of writing, there’s no telling for certain just when this skin may arrive. Also a mystery is exactly how this skin will be unlocked. While it could just be another purchasable bundle in the shop, there’s a chance this arrives as an exclusive reward for those who complete Season 1’s new nuke challenge. Much like in the previous version of Warzone, the nuclear contract is back with a twist this time around. So perhaps, keeping in line with last year’s challenge for the Nova Operator skin, there’ll soon be this unique Operator skin waiting for those who dare try their hand at the increasingly difficult task.

  • Each of 10 Specialists in Black Ops 4 to receive their own comic book series – Dexerto

Each of 10 Specialists in Black Ops 4 to receive their own comic book series Treyarch and Activision have announced that they will be releasing a comic series following the stories of the Specialists that are in the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 title. With there being no single-player campaign in Black Ops 4, Treyarch are releasing the comics as a way to introduce the Specialists and follow each one’s story in the Black Ops Universe. These stories will translate into the game, as players will be able to complete Specialist Story Missions to learn more about the game’s characters. The comic series for the Ruin, Prophet, and Crash have already been released, and are available to be read online now for free. • EA stock prices plummet ahead of Battlefield V and FIFA 19 releases – Dexerto

EA stock prices plummet ahead of Battlefield V and FIFA 19 releases Electronic ArtsElectronic Arts saw stock prices drop 11.9% at the end of August, shortly after the announcement that Battlefield V’s release date would be moved back into November. We previously reported that EA shares dropped almost 8% immediately after Battlefield V’s release delay, but the damage was worse than initially estimates predicted. On August 30 EA announced Battlefield V would be released on November 20, more than a month after the original release date of October 19. This delay might not be that big a deal if EA weren’t going up against some of their biggest competitors. Activision’s Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is scheduled to come out on October 12 and Rockstar Game’s Red Dead Redemption 2 is set for an October 26 release. Moving Battlefield V’s release date back almost a month behind two of the most anticipated games of the year shows EA isn’t confident in the game quite yet – and the preorder numbers show fans are taking notice. According to Cowen’s Doug Creutz, there have been 85% less preorders of Battlefield V then there have been for Black Ops 4. Call of Duty preorders have usually been higher than Battlefield’s in the past, Creutz said, but nowhere near the 85% this time around. Call of Duty’s new Blackout battle royale mode started it’s private beta this week and has been a hit in the community. If we compare that to the lackluster response Battlefield V’s beta received, things just don’t look good for EA’s flagship FPS franchise.

KFC Gaming has been making a name for itself in the esports world mainly by issuing some incredible burns on Twitter, but will now amp things up a bit by holding a Blackout tournament as part of a new partnership with Call of Duty UK. The teases officially started on January 11 and only ramped up in the ensuing days ahead of January 14’s official announcement. The event will feature a total of 16 content creators who will compete for their share of a £50,000 prize pool, a KFC Black card, and more. eUnited CoD teammates JKap and Clayster trade harsh insults during scrims Black Ops 4 squads are hard at work preparing for the upcoming CWL Pro League, but things might not be going all too well as two eUnited teammates went at each other during a scrim match. The CWL Pro League is right around the corner and teams are hard at work brushing up their game leading up to the competition, but a few bickering players might need extra time to iron out the team chemistry. During a match, tensions arose between pro players James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks and Jordan ‘JKap’ Kaplan after a miscommunication led to mid-match bickering from the teammates. Actionpacked games like Call of Duty are known for their high stress gameplay, but the teammates had a bit more to say after the game had ended. “You’re fucking so annoying. You literally tilt the fuck out of me,” Clayster told JKap. Clayster proceeded to mock his teammate’s calls during the match, to which the two-time Call of Duty World Champion didn’t take lightly. “Is that what I sound like?” JKaps fired back. “Go clip it and tell me what I sounded like you fucking pussy. You’re talking about our teammates being soft? You’re the soft one. You can’t take criticism for shit.” The team proceeded to lose the practice map following the argument, but by then the players had already dropped the name calling and started working together again to fix their in-game mistakes. The CWL Pro League is set to kick off on February 4, but eUnited and their fellow Division B pro teams don’t play until February 18. You can keep updated on the league, including schedules, team rosters, Divisions, and more, by visiting our dedicated CWL Pro League hub.

  • eUnited aBeZy clears the air after being called out by NICKMERCS – Dexerto

eUnited aBeZy clears the air after being called out by NICKMERCS After 100 Thieves streamer Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff slammed eUnited Call of Duty pro Tyler ‘aBeZy’ Pharris during a lengthy Twitch rant, aBeZy has taken to Twitter to share his side of things. During NICKMERCS’ rant, he didn’t hold back anything at all, saying that aBeZy is “a fucking asshole” and that “he’s always been a prick.” A few hours after NICKMERCS’ remarks went viral on social media, aBeZy has posted a lengthy explanation on Twitter to try and shed light on the situation. The eUnited player starts things off by saying that he has “absolutely nothing against [NICKMERCS] or the MFAM.” aBeZy then clarifies that he isn’t quite sure why NICKMERCS said what he said since he says the two have “literally never played anything […] or even had a conversation.” While aBeZy doesn’t know what could have caused NICKMERCS to dislike him, he thinks that it could be related to a series of Call of Duty 3v3 wager matches the two had a couple years ago. After NICKMERCS and his crew had beaten aBeZy in a $100 challenge, the two agreed to a follow-up match, but aBeZy ended up being a bit hesitant since they didn’t have a third player they felt comfortable playing with. They responded and said they were down but then Blazt hit us up a couple minutes later while the MFAM was still playing a best of 3 wager on stream so we told them we would rather play with him to make it a fair match. At the time, Nick, Nio, and Ampz were a very good team so Blazt was the best option for a fair match. Me and Pac then hear that Nick is saying on stream that “he knows what we are trying to do and they aren’t stupid.” He was basically trying to say we were trying to scumbag him which honestly made zero sense because like I said.. they just beat us in a $100 challenge a day or two before. aBeZy clarified that they weren’t up to anything nefarious and simply didn’t feel comfortable playing with their original third player. Read More: Karma shines light on how Scump convinced him to return to OpTic with some interesting song lyrics – He goes on to say that he was “aggravated” after waiting two hours to play with NICKMERCS and that he “disagreed with what they did and that was that.” The player then concludes by saying that “the past is in the past and I have no kind of hatred towards [NICKMERCS] or the MFAM.” NICKMERCS has yet to respond to aBeZy’s statements.

Dwayne Johnson to reportedly star in Call of Duty movie According to a report from Giant Freakin Robot, Dwayne Johnson is in talks to star in a Call of Duty film. While nothing is confirmed yet, the report states he’s currently in talks to get CoD on the big screen for the very first time. Dwayne Johnson has yet to comment on the report.

  • Dropped CWL Pro League player FA5TBALLA hits back at being called “toxic and uncoachable” – Dexerto

Dropped CWL Pro League player FA5TBALLA hits back at being called “toxic and uncoachable” The dramatic saga between the Excelerate Gaming esports organization and Call of Duty player Ethan ‘FA5TBALLA’ Wedgeworth continues to roll on as the player has responded to accusations made against him by members of the org. On February 25, FA5TBALLA put out a message on Twitter in which he addressed the Reddit post that ExG’s General Manager Jay ‘j0rdinho’ Helton had put out about the CoD player following his demotion from their starting squad at the CWL Pro League. The Reddit post was published by j0rdinho in order tell the team’s side of the story concerning the roster move, and in it he put the majority of the blame on FA5TBALLA, calling him “incredibly toxic and uncoachable,” and claiming that he “refused to listed to anyone but himself.” This claim was pretty much backed up by the official statement that ExG put out via their own Twitter, in which they stated that the decision stemmed from the team and was carried out “based on their remarks regarding team atmosphere and overall cohesion.” As expected, FA5TBALLA has challenged the accuracy of these statements, claiming that he and j0rdinho had never once spoken to each other and that the manager had never watched or listened in to any team scrims. “The fact the he would go to Reddit and speak on business which he has little to no information about is ridiculous,” he wrote. “The fact that someone who’s never spoken a word with me made up such a statement is crazy.” He did go on to admit that the team chemistry may have not been optimal, but claimed that the lack of cohesion was not due to his actions but rather to the disrespect he was treated with by some of his teammates. “Arguments would burst out and become extremely personal, so much to the point I was told ‘it’s actually embarrassing how bad you are’ and ‘every map we lost at the PLQ was your fault.’ “I put my hear and soul into achieving my dream and got it ripped away from me,” he went on. “Then I was told I was toxic and uncoachable and people believed it. I was treated with little to no respect by some of my teammates and it was honestly a depressing atmosphere.” ExG’s roster move on February 23, which saw FA5TBALLA moved to the substitute’s role and former sub RobbieB being promoted to the starting squad. This led to a whirlwind of controversy in the competitive CoD community, in which accusations were sent flying left and right while fans and pro players alike expressed their own judgments on social media. Since then, FA5TBALLA has been accused of leaving a “parting gift” at the team’s Pro League apartments, clogging the toilet before he left for the airport. • DrLupo’s list of Warzone 2 fixes includes proximity chat, looting, and DMZ mode – Dexerto

DrLupo’s list of Warzone 2 fixes includes proximity chat, looting, and DMZ mode YouTube: DrLupo, Call of DutyStreamer DrLupo is among the many who have tried out Warzone 2 and the new DMZ mode, and he has some thoughts on improvements that are needed. DrLupo came to fame thanks to his reputation as a battle royale player back in the hey-day of games like H1Z1 and the height of Fortnite’s popularity. Since then, he’s moved more towards tactical shooters like Escape from Tarkov, but he’s kept his BR roots alive by playing games like Fortnite and even Call of Duty’s battle royale, Warzone. With the launch of Warzone 2 on November 16, DrLupo of course had to give the newest battle royale a go and had a few thoughts of what could be fixed. DrLupo gives his thoughts on Warzone 2 and DMZ improvements In a Twitter thread, DrLupo laid out his many thoughts on what Warzone 2 developers Raven Software and Infinity Ward could do to improve the game. While general technical fixes like games crashing were high among his complaints, he also pointed out some problem areas that other Warzone players have been struggling with. Chief among these is the looting system, which has been called out for constantly being buggy and difficult to navigate. DrLupo isn’t the only major streamer to voice this opinion, as Dr Disrespect called the looting system “atrocious” on launch day. He also noted that there are issues with proximity chat that can make it seem deceptive as to where and how close an enemy is. Lupo noted that making it fade as enemies got further away and making it directional would be huge helps. But perhaps the most important suggestions Lupo had were surrounding the newly-added DMZ mode. Given that DMZ is styled after those tactical shooters like Escape from Tarkov, Lupo’s unique expertise on these two genres coming together would certainly be an opinion that the Warzone 2 developers should pay attention to.

  • Drift0r reveals SBMM affects connection quality in Black Ops Cold War – Dexerto

Drift0r reveals SBMM affects connection quality in Black Ops Cold War Activision / TreyarchThe release of Black Ops Cold War has been plagued by complaints about weapon skins, progression, and, of course, skill-based matchmaking. Popular YouTuber Drift0r has revealed that the SBMM in Cold War can even change connection quality based on skill level. Even before the official release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold war, the game’s community was up in arms about the title’s skill-based matchmaking (SBMM) system. Since launch, prominent content creators like Drift0r, XclusiveAce, JGOD, and S0ur have conducted extensive research into how strong the SBMM in this title is. After reviewing the findings, Drift0r released a YouTube video that confirmed the presence of SBMM in Black Ops Cold War and revealed that, for the first time in franchise history, it appears the system is affecting connection quality. Black Ops Cold War SBMM testing and results The four content creators took a deep dive into Cold War’s SBMM implementation and provided the raw data they compiled for the community to review. The group set certain standards for the testing – like enabling crossplay and playing the same number of games on each account – to ensure the data is consistent and as accurate as possible. Read More: Game-breaking Warzone bug crashes the game – They decided to look at several specific data points: matchmaking time, ping to server, lobby kill/death ratio, lobby score per minute, and the account’s K/D and SPM figures for the last five games. After reviewing the data they collected, Drift0r revealed the group’s major findings: High-skill accounts take longer to find a match and have higher ping than low-skill accounts – Cold War’s ping scales off base connection quality (if a player has 10 ping it will double to 20, but if a player has 40 ping it will double to 80) – The group’s ping increased anywhere from 10 to 25 ms after switching to a high-skill account – The group’s matchmaking time increased anywhere from 10 to 25 seconds after switching to a high-skill account – The data collected not only confirms that SBMM exists in Cold War but that it can increase or decrease a player’s ping depending on their performance. In a game where connection and hit registration are quite literally the difference between life and death, this has huge implications. The results also show that an account’s K/D ratio over its past five games appears to affect matchmaking, explaining why players might have a few good games in a row followed by a few bad games. Drift0r confirmed that “your recent performance is definitely being considered by the algorithm.” Drift0r also says that SBMM feels like a problem for most players because they are being matched so closely with others of similar skill. When players are constantly being matched with opponents around the same skill level, the in-game experience will feel more difficult. Drift0r’s opinions on Black Ops Cold War SBMM Drift0r was not happy with the group’s findings; in his YouTube video, he confirmed that this system is a huge problem for players with poor connections and above-average skill level, and they are being severely handicapped. Despite his concerns about the current system, the YouTuber does not want SBMM removed from the game entirely. He confirmed that some version of the system for normal skill brackets would be fine, but it should not be as strict as the current implementation. “Call of Duty is not a competitive shooter; Call of Duty is, at its core, a very casual game,” he said. “Call of Duty is built to be or was built to be, enjoyable as a casual game, where you do fun things or flashy things. Call of Duty is enjoyable for its craziness, and not its competitiveness.” Now we’ll just have to wait and see whether anything changes with skill-based matchmaking moving forward.

  • Drift0r responds to attempts to ‘cancel him’ over old videos about racism – Dexerto

Drift0r responds to attempts to ‘cancel him’ over old videos about racism YouTube: Drift0rPopular YouTuber Brad ‘Drift0r‘ Overbey has posted a lengthy statement on Twitter, saying that old videos of his, in which he denounces the racist environment he grew up in, and how he escaped it and now condemns it, are being sent to sponsors in an attempt to ‘deplatform him’. As one of the most popular Call of Duty YouTubers, Drift0r’s channel has enjoyed an upswing of views of late thanks to the Modern Warfare beta. Although he moved away from constant CoD content for some time, dabbling in other titles such as Overwatch and Apex Legends, he has been producing content on the popular shooter for almost a decade. The videos in question date back to 2012, and the racist language is used in the context of a commentary on his upbringing in the deep south of the United States. In these select videos, Overbey uses the ‘n word’ explicitly on numerous occasions, explaining that this was how people in his community would describe black people on a regular basis, and uses it to better illustrate his points and story. On September 23, Drift0r stated: “Somebody has been emailing my sponsors links to old videos & sections of videos of me saying the N-word. It also included a section about me pushing a racist ideology on my channel. The goal was to get my sponsors to drop me & deplatform me elsewhere.” While it is true that I used the N-word numerous times in numerous videos over the years, it was always done in context of criticizing racism. After living a few years outside of that…(2/?) — Drift0r :palm_tree: Cayman Islands (@Drift0r) September 24, 2019 As for why he chose to use the words explicitly, rather than censoring or simply alluding to the language, Drift0r explains that it was intended to “maximize emotional impact for viewers because racism is often sanitized in a way to make it more ingestible or less offensive. In doing so, many forms of media also lose the brutality and nastiness of how bad racism can be in some parts of the US.” Because these videos are available publicly, Overbey fears that they could be cut and taken out of this context of social commentary and used to present the YouTuber as still holding these views. “”drift0r racist exposed”” video or even a series of them. There are enough stories that some seriously bad sounding stuff can can be made with editing. I have chosen not to delete the videos or hide from what I have made or said. Some of these topics are inherently controversial, splitting opinion, but fans of the YouTuber have voiced their support for him on social media, as he attempts to “get ahead” of any potential backlash over these old uploads.

  • CoD YouTuber Drift0r Provides Six Tips For Players New or Struggling in the Black Ops 4 Beta – Dexerto

CoD YouTuber Drift0r Provides Six Tips For Players New or Struggling in the Black Ops 4 Beta The Call of Duty community is knees deep into the new Black Ops 4 Private Beta, which globally launched on the PS4 on August 3. After trying it for himself, YouTuber ‘Drift0r’ has compiled a list of tips and advice for all those who are new or struggling in the Black Ops 4 Beta. The popular CoD content creator tweeted out six tips for those who have yet to try out the Beta. Tip #1 The MX9 SMG is your friend. The MX9 is the default level SMG that is the first to be unlocked once a player reaches Level 5 and can create their own class. It is a fast firing weapon with a moderate recoil, and has quickly become one of the more dominant weapons in the game. Tip #2 AP rounds ruin body armor losers. Armor Piercing (AP) Rounds is one of the attachments that is available for some weapons, and its purpose is to inflict increased damage to armor and enemy scorestreaks. This attachment has turned out to be quite crucial against players who run Body Armor, which has quickly become one of the most overpowered items in the game. Tip #3 Aim chest up, no legs. While this may seem to be an obvious piece of advice, the increased health and added armor in Black Ops 4 has noticeably increased the Time-To-Kill (TTK). This makes aiming for headshots a much higher priority. Tip #4 Hip fire is not your friend. This tip pretty much explains itself, as the bullet registration when hip firing is poor and makes it much more worthwhile to aim down sights as much as possible. Tip #5 Stim or Equipment Charge are best. Drift0r contends that the Stim Shot, which gives you faster health regeneration and it itself reloads faster, and the Equipment Charge, which charges Specialist weapons and equipment faster, are the best Gear to use. This tip may depend on the type of player, since Body Armor is also available in that category. – Next time you load into the battlefields of the Black Ops 4 Private Beta, keep Drift0rs tips in mind, as they can help you win gunfights you may not have been winning before.

Drift0r offering massive reward for help after fan steals dog from his home [UPDATED] Drift0r – YouTubePopular Call of Duty YouTuber Brad ‘Drift0r’ Overbey believed that his dog may have been stolen from his home, and offered a sizable reward for anyone who has vital information on the situation. Update – May 5 Drift0r’s dog Bumi was successfully returned home after he had been found and taken home by a stranger, according to Drift0r’s latest Twitter post. As a reward, the person received $2,000 in cash, a gaming headset, and a SCUF Gaming controller, as well as an invaluable shoutout on social media. Bumi was saved by @devydior ! He even went as far as to say that he believes the culprit may have been someone that “knows him from the internet,” which means it likely would have been one of his YouTube fans. While he did admit that there was the possibility that Bumi may have just escaped from the yard and run away, Drift0r said that both he and the police believe that it’s much more likely that he was taken. Eager to get his dog back, the YouTuber has offered a $2,000 cash reward to anyone who either can find his dog, knows where he might be, or has any information that could lead to the dog being found. In addition to the cash prize, Drift0r has announced that he will ask the police to drop charges if the person who took Bumi returns him. Anyone who lives in the greater East Plano area of Texas, where Drift0r’s house is located, who may have information about Bumi’s whereabouts or the nature of his disappearance should contact him either via phone or email. • Drift0r Killed by His Own Chopper After Launching Into a Blackout Game – Dexerto

Drift0r Killed by His Own Chopper After Launching Into a Blackout Game Call of Duty YouTuber and streamer Brad “Drift0r” Overbey was killed by his own escort helicopter while flying into a game in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 ‘Blackout’ battle royale mode Private Beta. Drift0r uploaded the hilarious – and shocking – incident in a Twitter video, where he is shown jumping from his chopper only to be sliced by its spinning blades. It got better, too: Drift0r’s character slowly crawled through the air after being killed, hitting the ground unceremoniously. “This is why you die so quickly sometimes.” I got killed by my own escort chopper when I dropping in #Blackout pic.twitter.com/sRx1oh1hrr — Drift0r (@Drift0r) September 11, 2018 He even gave a slow-motion replay of the clip. It didn’t appear that Drift0r was anywhere near the chopper’s blades: instead, he was just underneath them at the time of impact. It looks as though the blades have wide hit scans, and have apparently hit other players in similar instances. This isn’t the only odd glitch that the ‘Blackout’ Private Beta has gifted users, either. Actor James Sutton responded to Drift0r’s tweet with reports of another glitch that launches players across the screen when exchanging gunfire. “Drift, are you having enemies jump across the screen when you try and engage? It’s driving me fucking mental.” a means to duplicate items. The glitch occurred when two players attempted to pick up the same item at once, and it wasn’t an isolated incident. Blackout has also received an update, with Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar revealing a slew of bug fixes for the title. While the ‘Blackout’ Private Beta is currently underway for PS4 users, the full title is expected to release on October 12 as part of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

  • Drift0r exposes game-breaking Warzone exploit that guarantees “bot lobbies” – Dexerto

Drift0r exposes game-breaking Warzone exploit that guarantees “bot lobbies” Activision/Drift0rPopular Call of Duty YouTuber Drift0r has released a new video that exposes a massive, game-breaking exploit allowing Warzone players to get into “bot lobbies” most of the time, and “lower-skilled than normal” lobbies other times. After Drift0r previously teased on Twitter that he had discovered something “much worse than the DMR-14” in Warzone, a new video reveals that he almost certainly wasn’t over-exaggerating. According to a brand new video from the CoD YouTuber, a brand new Warzone exploit allows players to get into some very low skilled lobbies. Drift0r says that about “two-thirds of the time” he was able to get into “very easy, bot, low-skilled lobbies” and the other “one-third of the time” he got into lobbies that weren’t bot lobbies, but were certainly lower-skilled than normal. “You’re not just removing skill-based matchmaking,” Drift0r said, “but you’re actually going the other way, way back down into low K/D territory and getting very easy first time players that have no idea what’s going on.” Some of the results shown in the video are pretty staggering. One of the lobbies that Drift0r was able to get into reportedly had an average of a 0.79 K/D amongst players and the YouTuber said he was able to get fifth place in that lobby simply by rushing. As for instructions on the exploit, Drift0r says that he’s not going to explain how to do the cheat itself, due to the fact that it would essentially ruin the game. “The facts on this video are ‘dude, trust me bro,’ which is the worst kind of facts… but if I show you the facts, I ruin my favorite game, I have to destroy something I love in order to show the truth, which is not a position I want to be in,” Drift0r said. In order to completely nip the cheat the proverbial bud, the YouTuber instead decided to send all of the information over to Activision themselves before the video went live, so that they can deal with it and fix the game before it becomes too widespread. While SBMM is a hot topic within the community right now, this seems to be so gamebreaking that if it became more widespread, it would make the experience awful, so it’s probably a good thing that we don’t know how to do it. That being said, as Drift0r points out in the video, it’s probably only a matter of time before more people figure it out for themselves.

  • Drift0r explains why Warzone “isn’t worth” playing anymore – Dexerto

Drift0r explains why Warzone “isn’t worth” playing anymore ActivisionPopular Call of Duty YouTuber Drift0r has released a new video explaining why he thinks Warzone isn’t worth playing anymore due to the number of cheaters in the game, confirming that he is on the brink of “jumping ship” with the battle royale title. [jwplayer seN10a3q] If you’ve been wondering if/when larger content creators and streamers would abandon Warzone due to the lack of an anti-cheat software then wonder no more. Today, Drift0r – one of the more prominent content creators in the CoD scene – has made a video slamming Warzone for its inability to deal with all the rampant cheating and it seems like the issue has brought him to a breaking point with the game. “It’s difficult enough with skill-based matchmaking as it is, having to play the sweatiest top 1% players, that’s a challenge in-and-0f-itself that I don’t particularly like for battle royale, but adding in blatant aim-botters on top of that makes the game painfully unfun,” Drift0r said. In the 10-minute long video, the YouTuber says the cheating problem is making him not want to play the game anymore, claiming that he runs into at least “two to three cheaters a night.” Because of this, and the fact that interest in the game is waning, he contends that he doesn’t feel like the game is worth playing because of the cheating problem. “I really like Warzone, you can look at my videos, it’s my number 1 most favorite CoD thing to play, but I’m planning to jump ship,” he said. “I got up this morning and I made the decision: I’m going to go ahead and keep making videos but I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t think it’s worth playing anymore.” Cheating is a major problem for the CoD community right now. The PC version of Warzone is riddled with cheaters and hackers, whether they use external software or manipulate the skill-based matchmaking system to get lower-tier lobbies, to the point where major tournaments have been ruined and lost integrity. All indications are that Drift0r is not alone in sharing this sentiment; the content creators he’s talked to feel a similar way, claiming they are all ready to “jump ship” as well once a viable game comes along that protects them from cheaters. Because of this, it seems like the future of Warzone is going to be a turbulent one if Activision doesn’t do anything about the state of the game soon, especially when it comes to the cheating problem.

  • Drift0r Explains Why the Medic Specialist is Highly Underrated in CoD: Black Ops 4 – Dexerto

Drift0r Explains Why the Medic Specialist is Highly Underrated in CoD: Black Ops 4 The hype train for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is in full force, which means that content creators are publishing numerous videos in anticipation of the game’s October 12th release. One such content creator is Brad ‘Drift0r’ Overbey, who is a popular CoD YouTuber known for his analytical guides and tip videos. Drift0r was one of the numerous community members to receive an invitation to the Black Ops 4 Community Reveal Event on May 17th, where he got exclusive access to early Mulitplayer gameplay. In a recent video, he shows gameplay with the medic called ‘Crash,’ and explains why he feels the new specialist is being highly underrated in the early going. Read More: New Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies Cast Will be Introduced in a ‘Prequel’ Comic Series – In the video, Drift0r lists three of Crash’s main abilities that appeal to him the most, the first of which are the ‘Golden Mags.’ “Number one is that his optional equipment is a scorestreak boost bag which the developers call ‘Golden Mags.’ They give you about 75 to 100 extra points per kill for that particular magazine. […] It also gives you points when your teammates pick them up, and gives you points when teammates get kills with them, boosting their scorestreaks and yours.” The second thing that the YouTuber loves most about the medic is his healing gun. “The real beefy thing about the medic is his healing gun. […] This heals all teammates to their maximum 150 health and over heals them by 50 hit points as well if there’s a teammate that already has the 200 with their armor, you can over heal that up to 250, which is pretty bananas. […] This ability can heal through walls and at infinite range.” The third thing that Drift0r loves about Crash has nothing to do with its in-game abilities or weapons. “The third thing is that he kind of looks like an ’80s action hero, so sign me up.” The entirety of Drift0r’s video can be viewed below, or on his official YouTube channel.

  • Drift0r explains why Modern Warfare stealth patches are “unhealthy” for CoD – Dexerto

Drift0r explains why Modern Warfare stealth patches are “unhealthy” for CoD Popular Call of Duty YouTuber Brad ‘Drift0r’ Overbey has criticized developers Infinity Ward for a number of ‘stealth patches’ they have made to Modern Warfare, without informing players. Since Modern Warfare’s October 25 release, fans have quickly identified issues they want to see adjusted. Among other things, Infinity Ward’s communication – or lack thereof – has been criticized as insufficient. They have remained almost entirely silent as fans have debated skill-based matchmaking. However, they are facing renewed criticism since, at the start of December, it became apparent that Infinity Ward had been omitting details from Modern Warfare’s patch notes. In an ‘in-depth’ video on December 31, Drift0r provided his thoughts on the situation. He makes it clear pretty early on that while most of his in-depth videos are guided completely by statistics, this is his subjective take on Infinity Ward’s behavior. “It is a fact that Infinity Ward has been stealth nerfing, stealth buffing and patching various things in Modern Warfare,” he explained. “As of now, I know for a fact the skeleton stocks got nerfed and slightly reworked, LMGS as a whole got a nerf… the FAL fire rate got a nerf.” The list continued, but Drift0r claimed he’s not bothered about the changes themselves, but that “none of these changes were in the patch notes – ever”. “How are we, the gamers, supposed to know what’s good or bad with all these hidden changes?” he asked. “How can you at home know whether your weapon’s changed or not?” Overbey went onto explain that fans will speculate about what they’re doing wrong when their go-to weapons do not perform as expected. They added: “You’ll think ‘have I forgotten how to aim?’” He also stated that the kind of “irritating” stealth patches Infinity Ward are using leads to a “general resentment” from the CoD community. Drift0r finished up by describing how difficult it makes his ‘in-depth’ videos. While his statistics and weapon profiles are accurate at the time of recording, by the time he comes to upload the video, the weapon’s stats may have changed, unbeknownst to him and to CoD community. Read More: Best Call of Duty games of the decade – Infinity Ward’s insistence on stealth patches is a new step for Call of Duty, and does not seem to be particularly popular in the CoD community. Fortnite Chapter 2 developers Epic Games have stopped publishing patch notes altogether, supposedly to reduce the influence they have on player decisions. While that seems the most likely reason behind Infinity Ward’s decision, the lack of information seems to be frustrating both Drift0r and the wider CoD fan base.

  • Drift0r explains why Modern Warfare is “absolutely not” designed for competitive – Dexerto

Drift0r explains why Modern Warfare is “absolutely not” designed for competitive Infinity Ward / Drift0rCall of Duty YouTuber Brad ‘Drift0r’ Overbey believes the upcoming Modern Warfare title was not constructed with competitive gaming in mind. Drift0r was among the few YouTubers and content creators that were invited out by Activision a week ago to try out Modern Warfare multiplayer during the global reveal event. After gaining some hands-on experience, he held a live Q&A session discussing the multiplayer, and one of the questions that came up was about the competitive side of the game. During his answer, he revealed that, according to his own conclusions after trying out the multiplayer, he believes that the developers did not prioritize competitive gameplay when building the game. Read More: Modern Warfare cosmetics revealed – “Honest to God, I get the impression that this game was not designed with competitive in mind,” he said. “Is it for head-glitching, very fair and perfectly symmetrical maps power positions, competitive shooting? Absolutely not.” Drift0r went on to explain that the multiplayer, in its current build, was clearly designed to appeal to casual players, who do make up a large majority of the overall player-base. “This game is very, very much so designed for the casual player,” he said. “This is for you guys at home that play and have fun. You want to play big team battlefield? You want to do fun stuff? You want to get streaks? That’s what it’s for.” If his opinion does end up proving valid once the game is released, it could be a long year of Call of Duty for the competitive scene, and that’s not just those who play professionally in esports. There are tens of thousands of players worldwide who compete in online tournaments, leagues, and challenges, as well as local events, and while they may never reach pro status, they still enjoy playing the game competitively. Furthermore, as Reddit user ‘branson3‘ pointed out after watching Drift0r’s Q&A video, the intended realism implemented into the gameplay has made weapons and ballistics behave as they would in the real world, meaning shots to the head look to be a lot more damaging than in previous CoD games. “The biggest thing he said was that high caliber is built into the game and that every gun in the game is either a one or two shot to the head,” he wrote. However, those players shouldn’t all hit the panic button just yet; as Drift0r also mentioned in his video, Call of Duty games are never really ever designed with competitive as the main priority. “That’s true of most Call of Duty games, most years,” he explained. “The competitive scene is more adhoc, which is why they ban things.” And while Modern Warfare may take that to another level, players should definitely wait to give it a try before jumping to conclusions. The discussion about Modern Warfare competitive starts at the 10:30 mark in the video below. Modern Warfare will be released worldwide on October 25, 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

  • Drift0r says Modern Warfare does not have a mini-map, explains why it’s a ‘good thing’ – Dexerto

Drift0r says Modern Warfare does not have a mini-map, explains why it’s a ‘good thing’ Dexerto / Infinity WardPopular Call of Duty YouTuber Brad ‘Drift0r’ Overbey has given his take on the upcoming Modern Warfare title not having a mini-map, saying that it’s not as bad as people may perceive. Whether or not Modern Warfare will feature a mini-map has been a major topic of debate ever since leaks and rampant speculation broke out several weeks ago that there would not be one in the upcoming title. On July 30, in a discussion video about MW, Drift0r and his fellow YouTubers Trevor ‘TmarTn’ and Jimmy ‘Chaos’ (formerly known as Chaosxsilencer) essentially confirmed that to be the case. “I haven’t played it, so I can’t say if it’s a bad thing,” TmarTn said. “I know they’re going for the more realist aspect, which that does make sense.” “I feel like it’s going to slow the game down and make it a lot more ‘campy,’” he went on. “Again, I haven’t played it so I have no experience but I think that’s what would happen if you took mini-maps away from any other CoD games.” Drift0r, however, saw the prospect of there being no mini-map from a different perspective, arguing that it may actually help improve the gameplay experience. “In CoD you’re always starting at the mini-map, looking for the little dots to pop up,” he explained. “And if you think about your player behavior, and you’re just kind of meandering, and shooting at what pops up, and if you see a dot you change your behavior.” “When you take away the mini-map, you actually have to use your ears and think a little bit. And it also helps you focus on the actual and not just starting at the upper left-hand corner just waiting for somebody to reveal themselves.” You can listen to their entire discussion about Modern Warfare below, with the topic of there being no mini-map starting at the 13:30 mark. Until the game is released and players have gotten a chance to try it out, there’s no way to definitely know whether there being no mini-map will be a positive or negative change. One thing is for certain, the transition in gameplay and play-styles will be a massive one, since the mini-maps has been a fundamental fixture of the multiplayer in virtually every CoD game that’s ever been released. Of course, Infinity Ward have already showed what the game looks like with no mini-map, during the reveal event for the brand new 2v2 Gunfight mode several weeks ago. Players can expect the topic to be a major point of emphasis during the multiplayer reveal on August 1, during which everyone will get a much fuller glimpse of the game with no mini-map, especially the other modes within multiplayer. Modern Warfare Multiplayer reveal – what we know The global reveal event for multiplayer will be taking place on August 1, 2019 live from Los Angeles, CA. The presentation is scheduled to kick off at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST. Activision have already announced that the event will showcase the debut of the MP trailer, live gameplay featuring Operators, Loadouts, Killstreaks, and Field Upgrades, brand new maps and their day/night variants, and much more.

  • Drift0r explains why he still streams with the controversial Tmartn – Dexerto

Drift0r explains why he still streams with the controversial Tmartn YouTuber Drift0r cleared the air on why he chooses to stream and create content with Tmartn, despite his controversial past with gambling websites. Drif0r positions himself as a moral and ethical content creator, a point which he reenforces at the beginning of the video. This stance is why his fans have questioned his decision to associate with Tmartn, who infamously was involved in the CS:GO Lotto scam. “I found CS:GO Lotto, and Tmartns behavior, to be immoral and unethical,” started Drift0r. “I personally wouldn’t want any money from that kind of business.” The YouTuber made it clear how he felt about Tmartn’s former business practices, saying “I would rather be broke than participate in that. I would rather be homeless.” He broke down the CS:GO Lotto scandal one more time for those unaware, explaining how Tmartn found a few legal loopholes to technically be innocent of any crimes, even if it was morally wrong. Drift0r attempted to explain why he was not more vocally critical at the scandal, saying he did not feel it was necessary. Definitely not forget, though,” closed Drift0r.

  • Drift0r explains why Black Ops Cold War Beta is ‘two steps backwards’ – Dexerto

Drift0r explains why Black Ops Cold War Beta is ‘two steps backwards’ Twitter, @Drift0r / TreyarchRenowned Call of Duty content creator ‘Drift0r’ has revealed precisely why he is disappointed in the Black Ops Cold War Beta, claiming he’s reluctant to play it due to a variety of concerns about performance and mechanics. [jwplayer ulMZS35X] Moving from the Black Ops Cold War Alpha back in September to October’s Open Beta, different content creators, players, and professionals have expressed varying criticisms about the upcoming Call of Duty title. That’s theoretically good, as these experimental phases are meant to incur feedback, but what’s not good is that Drift0r believes some of the changes from Alpha to Beta have actually hurt the game, rather than helped it. While the majority of players, pros, and streamers have focused on skill-based-matchmaking (SBMM) as their prevailing concern, Drift0r cites an uncomfortably long list of issues as the cause for his disappointment in the game. As Dr Disrespect tanks his kill-death ratio to counter SBMM, Drift0r has instead ignored that competitive aspect and focused specifically on the details that leave him unwilling to play the Beta. “I didn’t want to make a video like this today, I didn’t want to be negative. I wanted to wake up and have a super fun stream, to be really hyped to play with the new stuff … but my experience from playing the Beta and my impressions were overwhelmingly negative. So negative, as a matter of fact, I cut my stream early.” Driven to the point that he had to cut short his intended four-hour stream by a full two hours, Drift0r goes through about 15 minutes explaining why he thinks the game is “still rough” and has left him both “unhappy” and “upset.” Among his complaints, the principal issues appear to be lag, movement mechanics (including with vehicles) and what he describes as “painful” audio issues. While there are some cool mechanics possible in the Beta, from Drift0r’s experience, the gameplay was choppy, with consistent frame-rate drops. In response to hoped improvements in the Beta patch, he actually found movement to be more inconsistent and counter-intuitive. Similarly, he found that the vehicles were almost nerfed too strongly by making their maneuverability incredibly cumbersome. And last, while understanding that Treyarch’s decision to add more bass to the gunfire was an effort to placate fans who miss Modern Warfare’s realism, he found the audio to be overdone and painful. Ultimately, Drift0r explains that, despite some great improvements to graphics and quality-of-life options, “in terms of fundamental gameplay, it was a step or two backwards.”

  • Drift0r explains which perk you should be running on every class in Black Ops 4 multiplayer – Dexerto

Drift0r explains which perk you should be running on every class in Black Ops 4 multiplayer YouTuber Brad ‘Drift0r’ Overbey has revealed which perk is by far the most powerful in Black Ops 4 multiplayer, and why you should be running it on every single one of your classes. In the latest episode of his popular ‘In-Depth’ series, where he takes a closer look at the finer points of Call of Duty multiplayer guns, perks, scorestreaks, attachements and more, he has given a vital piece of information for Black Ops 4. Focusing particularly on two perks from slot two, Gung-Ho and Lightweight, Drift0r explains that the former is “ludicrously powerful”, and can see no reason why it shouldn’t be on every single one of your load outs. It wouldn’t be an In-Depth episode without some numbers to back up his claim however, so Drift0r gives some impressive figures for Gung-Ho’s benefits. Firstly, Gung-Ho allows you to hipfire while sprinting, which is a nice touch Drift0r says, but not the main attraction. It is the second benefit, the ability to ‘recover from sprint faster’, that really sells Gung-Ho. As Drift0r explains, “Gung-Ho reduces sprint-to-shooting delay by 33% for most weapon classes”, which is strong in itself, but that’s not all. But “Gung-Ho also makes your sprint-to-ADS time basically instant” – a 95% reduction, according to Drift0r. He also briefly touches on Lightweight, a classic Call of Duty perk that many will be running because of both familiarity and because it is the first perk unlocked, but Drift0r says you should definitely swap it out for Gung-Ho. Drift0r calculates that Lightweight will grant you around 4% faster sprint speed – not as much of an increase as past iterations – and even the added benefit of not taking fall damage isn’t enough to make it stack up against Gung-Ho. For competitive players especially, Drift0r reckons there should be no class which doesn’t have Gung-Ho on it, perhaps paired with Dexterity to make you incredibly mobile and accurate.

  • Drift0r Explains to Nadeshot Why Black Ops 4 is Better on PC than on Console – Dexerto

Drift0r Explains to Nadeshot Why Black Ops 4 is Better on PC than on Console There will always be arguments over which platform Call of Duty should be played but for the first time in a number of years, PC can finally be part of the discussion. Popular YouTuber, Drift0r, has expressed his thoughts on the subject and has come to the conclusion that Black Ops 4 is better on PC than it is on a console. The Call of Duty Black Ops 4 multiplayer Beta comes to an end on Monday August 13 after two fun-filled weekends. PlayStation 4 hosted the first, while the second weekend was open to PS4, Xbox One and PC users. The development team at Treyarch have put a large emphasis on making sure Black Ops 4 works well on PC, and judging by the feedback, they’ve done a good job. Drift0r initially Tweeted out that he likes Black Ops 4 on PC more than he does on PlayStation 4, and after a response from former CoD pro Nadeshot asking why, he explained in a little more detail. “Basically just because mouse aiming feels so much better, smoother, and faster. Going for headshots feels good. Once I got used to the speed and higher skilled enemies, PC just felt like the place to be. Same as playing Fortnite on PC for a while then going back to PlayStation.” The BR genre has shined on PC due to how friendly the mode is for streaming, and you’d bet that Treyarch has put effort into the platform in order to try and attract high profile streamers over from titles such as Fortnite and PUBG. Will it work? The full game is set for release in October 2018.

  • Drift0r claims underrated shotgun is better than 725 in Modern Warfare – Dexerto

Drift0r claims underrated shotgun is better than 725 in Modern Warfare Infinity WardCall of Duty statistician Brad ‘Drift0r’ Overbey has explained why the underrated R9-0 shotgun is actually better than the infamous 725, in a YouTube video uploaded on February 1. If players were asked to list the most frustrating aspects of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, it’s hard to imagine there would be a weapon that appeared more frequently than the 725 shotgun. Despite multiple nerfs, the 725 is still considered the best shotgun in Modern Warfare, ahead of all its opponents. Its double-barrelled fire rate has been significantly reduced, as has its previously insane range. Drift0r may surprise some people with his opinion of what is actually number one, then. Modern Warfare has a bunch of powerful shotguns, from the aforementioned 725 to the reincarnated Brecci – the Origin 12. However, the American believes the R9-0 tops all of them. In the latest installment of his well-known ‘In-Depth’ series, Drift0r explains that it’s low-key one of the best weapons in Modern Warfare. The gun boasts a unique two-shot-then-pump firing mechanism, but this allows consistent quick kills, as opposed to the need to reload with the 725. While he concedes that the R9-0’s range is not as good as the 725’s, the R9-0’s ability to “clear out an entire room” makes it the best shotgun in Modern Warfare. “This is a weapon that’s a lot more hip-fire dependent,” he says. “You’re gonna run around really fast, you’re gonna want to spam people.” Drift0r emphasizes that it requires a certain play-style to maximize its effectiveness – necessitating that players get up close to their enemies and focus their gameplay around the unique two-shot-then-pump mechanism. As a result of this, the R9-0 probably requires a bit more skill to master than the other shotguns, particularly the 725. Despite this, Drift0r clearly believes that, once players have figured out how to maximize its effectiveness, it is the best shotgun in Infinity Ward’s latest Call of Duty.

  • Drif0r makes strong case for why Blackout should be free-to-play – Dexerto

Drif0r makes strong case for why Blackout should be free-to-play Popular Call of Duty YouTuber ‘Drift0r’ has stated his case for why Black Ops 4’s new Blackout battle royale mode should be free. Blackout will be released as part of the Black Ops 4 title, which means that the only way players can play the new mode is by purchasing the full game. However, Drift0r believes that the only way Activision can maximize potential of this new mode is to make it free-to-play. “I want Call of Duty Blackout to go free-to-play because I think that gives the best possible future for the game,” he explained. “I think if Call of Duty Blackout is going to be the success that everyone wants it to be, it should be a free-to-play game everybody can access.” In Drift0r’s eyes, expanding accessibility is crucial to the success of Blackout, and fans of battle royale may be turned off from trying the mode because it sits behind a massive paywall. “There’s Zombies and Multiplayer as well, but not everyone wants Zombies or Multiplayer. I think that very few gamers out there are willing to spend $60 just for a a battle royale game, and I think that’s the number one hurdle for Blackout to overcome, is its accessibility.” “If Blackout were more accessible, it would be a runaway success,” he went on to say. “Hockey stick growth, out of control player-base, it would be insane.” “It would probably make way more than $60 per person just selling cosmetics than it would just selling that base access,” he surmised. Drift0r rounded out his video by performing a statistical analysis and displaying what he projects would be Blackout’s growth if it were to become free-to-play. Some of his notable projections include: Increase from projected 15 million active users during launch month to potentially over 60 million, a four-fold increase. – Increase monthly active users across the Activision Blizzard brand by – Huge increase in Battle.net users for PC users to make it more competitive with Steam –

  • Dr Disrespect on what Modern Warfare needs to add for him to keep playing – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect on what Modern Warfare needs to add for him to keep playing Dr Disrespect, Twitch / Infinity WardCall of Duty title Modern Warfare for him to stick around after the beta. The Doc spent his September 12 stream testing out the new CoD multiplayer in beta, before delivering his verdict on Infinity Ward’s soon to be released blockbuster title and revealing what would keep him playing the game after launch. Although most of Dr Disrespect’s streams revolve around battle royale games like Apex Legends and PUBG, the streaming star showed off some of his multiplayer skills and confirmed if a competitive playlist is included with the game, he’d get stuck right in. “If there’s a competitive playlist attached this, yes. When you play competitive it feels like you’re working towards something. It feels like every match you play there’s something on the line,” the Doc said when asked if he’d keep playing. Read more: Glitched MW beta menu reveals Supply Drops – “If they have a sick-ass rank system then I’m on board baby. Also, if they have a BR then obviously I’ll be playing that, a lot. No doubt about it.” The Two-Time, like many in the Call of Duty community at the moment, stressed that knowing about things like progression and microtransactions were also a key part of investing time into the game. “Depends how much content is pre-loaded on the launch date,” he continued. “I don’t know what their microtransaction plan is, how their skins look, how all that’s going to work. How often will they update the game content-wise, with weapon tuning?” The Twitch star kept winding back to whether the game would have a battle royale playlist, something that has been hinted at in the beta: “If they do add a battle royale, woo! I mean, that’s…” before pointing to himself in reference to his love for the game mode. There was only one question that he couldn’t answer – is Modern Warfare esports-ready? He directed his loyal Champions Club members to his friends in the pro scene like James ‘Clayster‘ Eubanks or Matthew ‘FormaL’ Piper, admitting he was “out of his element.” Despite the Doc clearly having a good time during the beta, there was still a bit of doubt about whether he’d commit long hours to Infinity Ward’s release. One thing is for sure though – if the rumors of a battle royale mode are true, the Two-Time will probably be the leading streamer for it on Twitch post-release, bringing violence, speed, and momentum to the blockbuster game.

  • DrDisrespect reveals his biggest problem with Call of Duty: Warzone – Dexerto

DrDisrespect reveals his biggest problem with Call of Duty: Warzone Activision/Twitch: DrDisrespectTwitch powerhouse DrDisrespect has revealed his biggest issue with Call of Duty: Warzone, as Activision’s acclaimed battle royale approaches two months old. If there’s one thing revered Twitch streamer DrDisrespect has proven over his years on the world’s largest streaming platform, it’s that he’s never afraid to share his issues with a particular game. Despite the praise that has been heaped on Call of Duty’s sophomore battle royale effort, there are a number of areas players want to see adjusted. These include the relative strength of thermal sniper scopes and the volume of footsteps when players have Dead Silence equipped. While the Doc did not specifically call out footstep volume, he had some choice criticism for Warzone’s audio in general, explaining why he thinks it’s “a mess” overall. Read More: Modern Warfare April 22 update patch notes – The Doc was promptly downed by an enemy, launching him into a pretty scathing assessment of Warzone’s current audio. “F**king audio is so distracting in this game,” he said. “It’s so distracting in this game, audio, it’s just such a distraction. Worst audio design in the history of first-person shooter games – I think it’s this game, I really do.” “I don’t know, everything just feels like it’s more of a distraction than anything,” he continued. “Audio doesn’t sound right, distances don’t sound right, it’s just a f**king mess man.” The two-time is not the first person to criticize Warzone’s audio, with a host of players arguing it needs refining. Some examples include players sounding further away than they are, as well as it not being clear which floor of a particular building an enemy player is on. In a game-mode like battle royale, players are very reliant on audio to let them know the location of opposition players, and many argue Warzone does not do enough to warn players of enemy locations. Clearly, the Doc agrees.

  • Dr Disrespect not allowed to compete in upcoming $100K Warzone tournament – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect not allowed to compete in upcoming $100K Warzone tournament Instagram: @drdisrespect / Infinity WardZLaner has confirmed Dr Disrespect is not allowed to compete in the upcoming Toronto Ultra $100K Payout Warzone tournament and suspects it has something to do with his Twitch ban. Twitch shocked the world when they announced Dr Disrespect had been banned. The reasons still aren’t known. However, after a brief hiatus, he turned a new leaf and found a new home on YouTube. Since then, his success has been on the rise once again. The only downside is he can’t play with his friends while they’re streaming on Twitch. But apparently, he can’t compete in tournaments streamed on the platform, too. Zack ‘ZLaner’ Lane confirmed the news when he announced Dr Disrespect is not allowed to complete Toronto Ultra $100K Payout Warzone tournament. They were supposed to be on a team together, and the situation has him bitterly disappointed. “I’ve got some bad news, unfortunately,” he said. “I’m still going to be playing in the Toronto Ultra tournament, but Doc is unfortunately not going to be. He’s not allowed to play.” “I got a message back from the organizers from Toronto Ultra and Call of Duty, they’re the ones pulling the tournament off, and they said Doc is not allowed.” “I’m assuming it has to do with his Twitch ban. I messaged Doc right away, and I was like, ‘bro, is there any magic you can pull or anything you can do?’ and he said, ‘unfortunately not. It’s weird that they’re not letting me play in this thing.” “As soon as we can play another tournament together, we’re going to get one together soon. But that’s just weird and petty, and I don’t understand why he’s not allowed to play in this tournament. I think it has to do with his Twitch ban and some complications in there. But anyway, it is what it is.” ZLaner was shocked and disappointed with the news, and he wasn’t alone. Hundreds of fans left comments expressing their dissatisfaction too. They described it as a “sh*t bag move” and “pathetic.” One fan even vowed to never watch a Twitch stream again. Still, ZLaner hopes he’ll be able to compete with DrDisrespect in tournaments again at some point, and assured fans he’ll do what he can to make it happen.

  • DrDisrespect explains how chat can be improved in Black Ops 4 – Dexerto

DrDisrespect explains how chat can be improved in Black Ops 4 ActivisionDrDisrespect has told Treyarch and viewers on stream what he and other gamers want out of voice chat in Call of Duty Black Ops 4. The big thing that the Doc wants to see in Black Ops 4 is proximity chat, which is the ability to freely communicate by voice with any player within a certain range in game. Death chat was featured in the recent Blackout battle royale mode, but the streamer said he doesn’t want to see the dream of proximity chat forgotten about. “Please please please lets maximize the potential of proximity chat, Let’s not overlook it Treyarch,” the Doc implored on stream. The chat will probably need some fine tuning, like the area of proximity chat, how long players can talk for after they die, “We’re gonna work on those things, right?” Doc asked his stream. There is always the possibility that players will abuse chat in some way, but Doc said that just comes with the territory. “But Doc what if they’re like racist and do all that stuff? Well you get rid of them,” Doc told viewers. “Same thing as logo design and all that stuff: get rid of it, filter it out. That’s part of the process of having it inside the game. The Blackout private beta ended on September 17 and received rave reviews from community members who got the chance to give it a try. That included Dr. Disrespect, who spent a lot of time streaming the new battle royale mode, towards the end of the clip, the Doc has just one thing he wants to make clear, “I need proximity chat, I need it.”

  • Drazah “takeover” is key to underdog LA Thieves winning CDL Champs – Dexerto

Drazah “takeover” is key to underdog LA Thieves winning CDL Champs Call of Duty League CoD Champs 2021 is right around the corner as the Call of Duty League’s season nears its biggest event of the year. Reverse Sweep’s Enigma broke down why the Alaskan Assassin, Drazah, can help the LA Thieves complete a CDL Cinderella story. Having finished the CDL 2021 season at 18-21, with more roster changes than anyone can count, the Thieves are undoubtedly an underdog at Champs. But Andrew ‘Enigma’ Campion has chosen them as his dark horse roster for a simple reason: upside. Starting from the seventh seed, down in the Loser’s Bracket, Enigma believes that a combination of star talent, veteran savvy, and a slept-on flex player can push LA to a championship. And that sleeper talent? Zack ‘Drazah’ Jordan, otherwise known as the Alaskan Assassin. After tearing Challengers apart and playing multiple roles in stints for the Thieves, Enigma has seen enough to dub him the x-factor. As Enigma analyzed, Drazah is no one-trick pony, in fact, he’s a multi-skilled stallion: “He can run any map, mode, weapon, role… this guy is very, very good … He has potential to be a star, to take over and I really, really want to see it at Champs. And I think we will.” Noting Drazah and LA’s unanimously respected star Kenny ‘Kenny’ Williams as two clear dominators, Enigma made note of the slaying capacity on the Thieves roster. With veteran legends like Austin ‘SlasheR’ Liddicoat and John ‘John’ Perez on the roster, it’s no surprise Enigma thinks LA can make a run. But the Thieves do have some glaring weaknesses, namely their “consistency” and “map pool.” As Enigma dove into, the team simply hasn’t had as much time to gel as other rosters — making them inherently streaky when communication breaks down. Given a decent break between LA’s Stage 5 Major exit and CDL Champs, one has to wonder how much the Thieves can catch up in preparation. No roster changes have been made and the talent is undeniable. It’s nearly time to find out if Drazah and LA can do the unimaginable and bring a CDL Championship to the 100 Thieves brand.

  • Drazah joins Atlanta FaZe for 2024 CDL season – Dexerto

Drazah joins Atlanta FaZe for 2024 CDL season FaZe ClanAtlanta FaZe has announced the signing of CDL 2022 world champion Zack ‘Drazah’ Jordan for the 2024 season. Atlanta FaZe has announced the signing of Drazah, confirming Dexerto’s previous reporting. The former LA Thieves player was weighing his offseason options between joining OpTic Texas or FaZe and ultimately landed on the Atlanta-based team. With the LA Thieves, Drazah won two Majors, one in 2023 and one in 2022, and the 2022 Call of Duty League World Championship. Drazah helped the Thieves to a fifth-place finish during the 2023 CDL regular season. Following the end of the 2023 season, the North American player was an unrestricted free agent and was free to join any team in the league. The flex player replaces Austin ‘SlasheR’ Liddicoat on the team and will bring some immediate firepower to the squad. Atlanta FaZe adds Drazah for next CDL season The current lineup of FaZe and Drazah has had beef in the past. During the CDL Major 3 qualifiers, Drazah alleged that Atlanta FaZe cheated during their match, using a “stair glitch.” While the drama was mainly between Drazah and SlasheR, who is now on the Boston Breach, McArthur ‘Cellium’ Jovel was also involved in the Twitter spat. Atlanta FaZe will be adding the new player after a successful 2023 season campaign that saw the squad finish in first place in the CDL point standings and lift the Major 2 trophy. The team was incredibly consistent throughout the year, placing top three at every Major and the 2023 CDL Championship. Across the last four seasons, Atlanta FaZe has led the CDL point standings four years in a row, won four Major titles, and claimed the 2021 CDL Championship.

  • Drama ensues after CoD Mobile pro team gets disqualified from $20K tourney for “shooting bodies” – Dexerto

Drama ensues after CoD Mobile pro team gets disqualified from $20K tourney for “shooting bodies” ActivisionDuring a $20,000 CoD Mobile tournament, pro team Tragik was instantly disqualified for unsportsmanlike conduct after shooting bodies — leading to a ton of drama and backlash from the Call of Duty community. Teabagging and shooting bodies are classic examples of BM (bad manners) in Call of Duty, but the Throwback Throwdown CoD Mobile tournament tried to put an end to that. During a semifinals matchup with the chance at $20K on the line, Tragik was disqualified for shooting bodies. Apparently, Tragik’s Jim shot a body after winning a 1v3 to keep his team’s tournament hopes alive. But, while the squad won the round, the stream immediately cut to casters awarding their opponents the win due to “unsportsmanlike conduct.” Hope my team will be allowed to shoot bodies after winning and 6-1 snd after a 1v3 sniper clutch !! pic.twitter.com/6n8tQSbqEU — Tragik Pearl (@managerPearl) May 22, 2021 In response to the decision, social media has lit ablaze with CoD and esports fans discussing the punishment. Most prominently, Tragik’s camp is questioning the admins with complaints that there had been no warnings to their team, despite other teams receiving them for similar behavior. As one of the tournament’s casters explained, “we had a little unsportsmanlike conduct going down on the side of Tragik and so, huge tragedy, they had to forfeit that round they won — which, now, they don’t have an opportunity to come back.” The reactions across social media have most certainly been spicy, particularly from Tragik’s side. Most notably, the team’s manager, Pearl, has laid out various reasons that the ruling was unfair and also included evidence of other teams receiving warnings for the same actions. Pearl explained that the rules for the tournament didn’t clearly specify shooting bodies as unsportsmanlike and, more importantly, the admin didn’t give any warnings. https://twitter.com/managerPearl/status/1396208865579044867 With a clip of a Nova Esports player shooting a body, Pearl pointed out that the player received a warning and wasn’t instantly disqualified. This is shown in stark contrast to Tragik, who were forced to immediately forfeit. Elaborating further, the manager noted that there was “no discussion possible” and that the organizers’ actions went “against my and a lot of people’s principles.” Various Twitter replies have echoed the sentiment, as players and fans alike complain that Tragik were robbed. Drake congratulates 100 Thieves’ victory at CWL London in a special way 100 Thieves / MLG – TwitterWith 100 Thieves winning their first major tournament at CWL London on May 5, popular music star Drake decided to congratulate them in a very special way. There have been a lot of reactions pouring in about 100 Thieves’ victory at the CWL London pro Call of Duty tournament, but Drake’s may have been the most special for the players and organization so far. The global music icon, who is one of the investors that’s poured a lot of funding into 100T, took to his Instagram story just hours after the tournament concluded to post a congratulatory message to the team. “Congrats to the guys. 100 Thieves CWL London champs,” he wrote over an image of the players hoisting their first ever major trophy as a squad. 500Considering that Drake’s Instagram currently has over 56.8 million followers, this is obviously a huge PR break for 100 Thieves. Assuming that a large majority of Drake’s followers don’t really know much about CoD esports, it’s likely that at least some will start paying more attention to 100T after the post on his story. Drake and 100 Thieves As mentioned earlier, Drake has a reason to be interested in 100 Thieves and their progress in esports, as he and SB Projects founder Scooter Braun were two of the heavy-hitters to contribute to 100T’s Series A funding round back in October 2018. The announcement sent major shockwaves around the world of esports at the time, especially due to 100T’s rise in popularity as an esports org and, of course, Drake’s status as one of the biggest music artists in the world. 100 Thieves win CWL London 100 Thieves’ victory at CWL London marked their first ever major tournament win as an esports organization. • Dr Disrespect’s CR-56 AMAX Warzone loadout could replace the DMR – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect’s CR-56 AMAX Warzone loadout could replace the DMR YouTube: DrDisrespect/Infinity Ward/ActivisionThe nerfs to the DMR-14 have certainly shaken the Warzone meta up with the CR-56 AMAX seemingly picking up the mantle as one of the strongest weapons in the game. Of course, if you’re looking for an AMAX loadout, there’s no better blueprint to follow than that of the two-time himself. With the DMR-14 receiving a heavy amount of nerfs, Warzone players are looking for a new weapon that can help them dominate their games. By the looks of it, the meta is shifting towards the AMAX assault rifle with a specific set of attachments that make it a deadly weapon at medium range. The gun absolutely melts enemies and will certainly be an incredibly effective weapon in your Warzone games. A number of streamers have been giving the gun a try, including the two-time himself, Dr Disrespect. Luckily for us, he’s shown us exactly what attachments he runs on his AMAX so we can create the perfect loadout. Dr Disrespect’s deadly CR-56 AMAX loadout On his January 14 stream, Dr Disrespect revealed his AMAX loadout and it’s fair to say it packs a punch. If you’re looking for a fresh assault rifle option to replace the DMR, then this setup might be exactly what you’re looking for. Here’s how Doc kits out his AMAX to get the most out of the weapon: Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor – Barrel: XRK Zodiac S440 – Optic: Solozero Optics Mini Ref – Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip – Ammunition: 45 Round Mag – For starters, the Monolithic Suppressor is the go-to attachment for any Modern Warfare weapon as the damage range it provides is unmatched. Following this, the XRK Zodiac S440 barrel provides damage range, bullet velocity, and recoil control, so you can consistently land shots on your opponent. Next, Doc runs the Commando Foregrip for additional recoil control and the 45 Round Mag so he never runs out of ammo in a gunfight. Read More: Best FFAR 1 loadout for Warzone – Now, perhaps the most significant choice of Doc’s compared to most of the meta AMAX loadouts is the Solozero Optics Mini Ref. It appears Doc runs this optic so the weapon performs better in short-range gunfights. However, if you’re looking for a longer range scope, you can always equip the VLK 3.0x Optic as a secondary option. That rounds off Doc’s custom AMAX loadout for Warzone. Hopefully, this has given you a weapon that can help you dominate your Warzone games and take on any enemies still using a DMR. Fingers crossed the recent shake-ups in the meta mean we can see some weapon diversity in Warzone again, not just DMR’s and MAC-10’s.

  • Dr Disrespect & ZLaner want Warzone 2 to learn from Apex Legends’ “high skill gap” – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect & ZLaner want Warzone 2 to learn from Apex Legends’ “high skill gap” Activision / YT: Dr DisrespectStreaming giants Dr Disrespect and ZLaner have called on Warzone 2 to emulate Apex Legends’ “high skill gap”, claiming it’s holding the CoD battle royale back at the moment. The battle royale market has grown exponentially off the back of Fortnite’s lucrative success, becoming one of the more saturated areas of gaming. Call of Duty’s Warzone 2 is another example of that but, as it approaches its second season of post-launch content, there are suggestions that it may be losing ground in the race to be the most popular. Reports have emerged that its player count has fallen far faster than Activision expected. Now, Dr Disrespect and ZLaner, two of Warzone’s biggest streamers, have outlined what they think it needs to learn from rival BR Apex Legends. Warzone 2 needs to learn from Apex Legends’ “high skill gap” In a recent YouTube livestream, both creators made the case for Warzone 2 learning from and trying to replicate Apex Legends’ skill gap. ZLaner kicked off the discussion after admitting he misses the first Warzone: “I would consider that [Apex Legends] to be a BR with a high skill gap. That would probably be at the top of the list as far as skill gap goes.” A skill gap refers to the difference between good players and bad players. In Warzone 2, a game that has been criticized for its heavy use of SBMM, there are considered to be fewer ways for good players to properly dominate weaker ones. Dr Disrespect agreed: “Yeah. Like hitting a sniper from 400 meters away. Ooh.” Timestamp: 23:15 ZLaner continued: “This game [Warzone 2], they took a lot of skill gap away by removing what was already a small skill gap. YYing… slide canceling, learning how to have really good movement. That’s another one.” Warzone 2 devs have already unveiled a host of changes that are more akin to the first BR, including a long-awaited return to 1v1 Gulag matches. However, it still has a long way to go before the Doc considers it a game that’s not aimed at “brainless” gamers.

  • Dr Disrespect has wild idea to split Warzone players by inputs and it may just work – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect has wild idea to split Warzone players by inputs and it may just work YouTube: Dr Disrespect / Raven SoftwareDr Disrespect has pitched a wild idea to split Warzone lobbies by peripherals, with controller and mouse & keyboard players separated into separate playlists balanced around their chosen inputs — and really, it may just work. The two-time has been searching for ways to “save” the Call of Duty battle royale from its slow death, and is getting mighty close to calling time on Warzone. He may have just uncovered a solution though: according to Dr Disrespect, splitting Warzone lobbies by inputs might be the future for the battle royale. And, in a wild twist, the YouTube star thinks Raven Software should even do different patches for the playlists. “Design specific playlists, like Halo did,” he suggested. “Halo had dedicated PC playlists, you play against PC players only. Then on console, the same. Peripherals, split by peripherals… then build around those lobbies.” Dr Disrespect’s idea was first sparked after he went tête-à-tête with a skilled Warzone controller player — an input difference he claimed changed the gunfight. “You’re lucky you’re on controller!” he seethed. The Doc’s “unlucky” death got the two-time thinking, however, and as he battled his way out of the Caldera gulag, he laid out a plan he thinks could help Warzone: “What do you guys think of the game catering to peripherals? Take the [playlists now], and then split them up by peripherals, right? “Have specific playlists. Fine-tune how the weapons feel, what weapons are powerful. The meta of the game can be catered towards peripheral use.” There’s some obvious issues with slicing the Warzone player base right down the middle though, and the two-time knew it. One of the battle royale’s selling points is queue times and they would take a mighty hit if Raven Software divided the game based on what inputs were plugged in. “You need a huge player base, yeah,” he conceded. There’s no clear solution to that problem either, the Doc added. Making a combined playlist only compounds the issue, and if one lobby starts to slide — either controller or M&KB — the game suffers as a whole. “That’s where it gets tricky. You don’t want to start dividing the community. I would like to think a company could do that, but [it’s] gotta be a massive game.” The Doc has come up with plenty of different ways to save Warzone over the past few months, ranging from a Solos rework, a Caldera replacement, and even just scrapping the battle royale entirely, but this one is a totally new angle. He concedes it would be a huge undertaking, but one that could breathe new life into playlists dominated by aim assist. “It’s disgusting the advantage controller players have,” the disgruntled two-time said in the past. Now is the perfect time for Warzone suggestions too; Raven Software just announced a battle royale sequel that’s expected to reset the Call of Duty series.

  • Dr Disrespect claims Warzone is too broken to fix: “Microsoft won’t save you!” – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect claims Warzone is too broken to fix: “Microsoft won’t save you!” YouTube: Dr Disrespect / Raven SoftwareDr Disrespect has rung the Warzone death knell, claiming even a major developer reshuffle via Microsoft’s industry-shaking $70bn Activision Blizzard purchase won’t be enough to save the “broken” Call of Duty battle royale. Last week, Microsoft shocked the gaming world by confirming a $70bn swoop for Activision Blizzard, with Warzone included as one of the buyout’s biggest jewels. The shock ownership swap sees Microsoft claim monolithic franchises like Overwatch, World of Warcraft, and of course Call of Duty, and has seen many players claiming new management will be the spark many of the flagging series need to hit new heights. Dr Disrespect, however, isn’t so sure. In fact, he’s convinced Warzone is on its last legs — the problems keep piling up, the Doc claims, and Microsoft won’t actually be able to save the dying battle royale. The two-time’s claim came amid a $15k tournament he was playing alongside regular Warzone duo ZLaner, as he was beaten by a crafty enemy player. Dr Disrespect has been relatively vocal about his displeasure with Warzone and the battle royale’s current state for weeks now, and all his Call of Duty rage boiled to the surface again after his death — he fired salvos at the title’s audio issues, ongoing engine struggles. “Microsoft’s not going to save you!” the star YouTuber yelled. The Doc’s leading argument — ramped up to eleven by his in-game rage — was that Warzone’s core loops, designs, and balance have all been “broken” over the years and have become impossible to resurrect in any meaningful way, no matter how many devs take a swing at it. “There’s just nothing… nothing! There’s so many problems. No audio [for one]. This game sucks,” the two-time continued before addressing Raven Software. “Your game sucks! Microsoft won’t save you. It won’t!” The Doc slammed the table and delivered another barb: “Even the game’s engine is outdated! It’s a wrap, really. The game is a wrap! Holy sh*t, it’s done.” Dr Disrespect’s epic January 24 explosion is far from the first time he’s taken potshots at Warzone recently too; the star YouTuber has been taking swipe after swipe at the title since the turn of the new year. The two-time’s biggest issue, he explains, is Warzone losing the CoD feeling with new updates: “It’s supposed to be this over-the-top blockbuster arcade game you can pop into, start playing and have fun with. It’s high rep. I’m not getting that feeling. I’m falling asleep playing this game.” Other star Warzone stars like NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman have been equally savage, with Timmy even dubbing anyone still enjoying the game “a clown.”

  • Dr Disrespect claims Warzone needs “total rebuild” to save battle royale – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect claims Warzone needs “total rebuild” to save battle royale Raven Software / YouTube: Dr DisrespectDr Disrespect claims Warzone needs to pull off a “total engine rebuild” if the popular Call of Duty battle royale wants to keep duking it out with rivals Fortnite and Apex Legends — especially in terms of live events — long into the future. To call Dr Disrespect’s relationship with Warzone ‘hot and cold’ over the last few months would probably be an understatement. The streamer — who himself was a renowned Call of Duty map designer in a past life — clearly loves the battle royale; the YouTuber hosted a $20k tourney just last month. In true Doc fashion, however, he’s also publicly dubbed the popular title “disappointing,” downright “unplayable” at times, and even dramatically quit the game for a week in early May. Now he’s back plotting ways to keep the game going strong. The two-time got thinking about Warzone’s long-term future during a recent May 20 stream, and in particular the battle royale’s “pretty terrible” Season 2 finale. All the game’s issues, Dr Disrespect suggested, have stemmed from a bigger problem simmering under the surface. It’s one that doesn’t have a “clear solution,” at least in his eyes — how “poor” the title’s ‘IW 8.0’ game engine is. “Everything bad in Warzone, everything that [went wrong] in season one, two, three, the whole narrative and buildup, the live event, it’s all got something to do with how limiting the engine is… what it can’t do,” the two-time proclaimed. “The Call of Duty franchise is one of the biggest gaming IPs in the world,” he continued. “How limiting this Warzone engine is has to be addressed.” “There’s a lot they can’t do with it. How to fix it… I’m not sure.” The Doc pointed to rivals like Apex Legends (run on Valve’s iconic Source engine) as well as PUBG and Fortnite (both built on the 23-year-old Unreal Engine) as high watermarks for battle royales that Raven Software should “emulate.” “The other engines out there, how they’re designed, how efficient they are, there’s so many benefits. They make the whole process — matches, live events, lobbies — much easier, much more streamlined,” he explained. “Maybe they’re already addressing it. They started in Blackout, then built Warzone. Could they go back to that? They did a really good job on [Blackout].” Blackout ran on the “Black Ops 4” engine during its 2018 heyday. Standard battle royale lobbies in the Treyarch-led title hosted 100 players at a time. There were rumors back in March that Raven Software was eyeing a Warzone engine swap that would have shifted the battle royale onto Black Ops Cold War’s engine — a unique software build — but were soon shot down. Whether Doc is right that ‘IW 8.0’ is at the heart of Warzone’s issues remains to be seen. It’s unlikely, however, that Raven ditches the software any time soon.

  • Dr Disrespect explains what Warzone could learn from Escape from Tarkov – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect explains what Warzone could learn from Escape from Tarkov Dr DisrespectDr Disrespect is never one to keep an opinion to himself on the big shooter games and the same goes for Warzone, as he’s pointed the game’s developers could learn a thing or two from Escape from Tarkov. EFT has been up and down in terms of popularity in the last 12 months, enjoying purple patches where streamers like xQc, Summit1g, and shroud have jumped in to boost its popularity. One of those big personalities was Doc, who played Tarkov multiple times for his audience to watch along. His stint on it was never really consistent enough to call it his main game, whereas Warzone has been a staple of the Champions Club streams for some time. Now though, the Two-Time has singled out one feature where the Call of Duty title just doesn’t compare. Dr Disrespect on Warzone audio issues During his YouTube stream on January 11, the self-proclaimed best video gamer in the world lashed out at the battle royale’s audio after a defeat. He claimed that it made it sound like opponents were 100 feet away in a warehouse, before creeping up on him. He said: “A game like Escape from Tarkov, a game that has perfect audio, blows this game’s audio out by 500% – trust me. “Trust me, any real gamer would say the same thing. It blows this audio out by like a thousand, but the reason why is because it caters to (competitive players). You hear something at a distance, a shot, footstep, you hear it!” The streamer proceeded to imitate the sound in Warzone, making loud beatbox-style noises with his mic. Discussion starts at 1:12:48 in the video below. This isn’t the first game that Doctor Disrespect’s had a problem with, from an audio standpoint. Almost all battle royale games have come under fire at the hands of the Two-Time, who has previously mocked Fortnite, Apex Legends, and others for the same thing. Read More: Warzone game-breaking stim glitch resurfaces – It appears that Escape from Tarkov – despite not being as popular a game as Activision’s – is one that he actually admires. Whether or not future updates will address the issue he’s highlighted remains to be seen, but until that time it looks like he’s going to have some big frustrations on Verdansk and Rebirth Island.

  • Dr Disrespect explains why Warzone interest is at all-time low amid Season 2 update – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect explains why Warzone interest is at all-time low amid Season 2 update YouTube: Dr Disrespect / ActivisionDr Disrespect explained why his interest in Warzone is at an all-time low after the Pacific Season 2 update, admitting the way it looks, the way it feels, and the state of the map all play a part. It’s been approximately ten weeks since Warzone Pacific Season 1 launched. It was one of the longest seasons ever, thanks to a series of unexpected delays. However, the developers finally released Season 2 on February 14. After reading the patch notes, Dr Disrespect decided to give it a go. “We’re going to find out if this new season can retain our attention. Because if it can’t, I’m out,” he said at the start of his latest stream. By the time he was done, his interest in the game was at rock bottom. The two-time gave it a red-hot go for almost two hours. In that time, he produced some memorable moments, like dropping bombs on unsuspecting foes. However, the magic wore off quickly, and it wasn’t long before he called it quits. “I think I’m switching over right now,” he said. “I’ve had enough of this season. It’s just not going to do it for me. It must just be the way the game looks, the situation of the game right now, and the design of this map.” Doc expressed concerns about the new Caldera map in the past, but it seems like he’s finally had enough. “I’m just not in it. I can’t get in it,” he explained. “I haven’t gotten into it since this map was introduced.” After thinking about his first Season 2 playthrough a little longer, Doc claimed that his interest in the game is officially at an all-time low. “I’m just not into this game,” he said. “It’s insane. I am literally not interested in Call of Duty right now. This might be the least interested I am in the game.” The relevant part of the video begins at the 2:46:30 mark. Eventually, Doc switched on over to Escape from Tarkov and seemed to have a much better experience. He doesn’t think Tarkov is perfect either. However, believes it’s not far off and only needs some minor changes. Only time will tell whether the two-time decides to give Warzone another go soon. He has uninstalled the game several times in the past. His reasons for doing so were different each time, but something has still kept him coming back.

  • Dr Disrespect snaps and punches setup as Warzone aim assist rage hits new levels – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect snaps and punches setup as Warzone aim assist rage hits new levels YouTube: Dr Disrespect / Raven SoftwareDr Disrespect’s fury over Warzone aim assist has hit a whole new level, with the iconic streamer smashing his expensive setup and dubbing the auto-lock feature “wallhacking” in an explosive rant during his latest $25k event entry. The two-time was duoing with TimTheTatman in ‘The Last Dance in Verdansk’ — which they finished dead last in — when he fell prey to Warzone’s aim assist again. Dr Disrespect thought he had a good flank on enemies Tommey and Almond, and was goading them to peak so he could land one of his signature headshots. Things didn’t quite go to plan for the Doc, however, and Tommey was able to laser down the YouTuber in seconds after “the aim assist just locked on.” The kill-cam did nothing to stem Doc’s rage; he stood up, arms in the air, and lashed out at his gaming chair. The punch, delivered with a venomous “f*ck!” at the same time, rocked his whole streaming setup. “I’m so sick and tired, man!” the Warzone star exploded as he sat back down. “I’m just f**king sick and tired of this cheesy ass aim assist, all this crossplay!” The two-time didn’t let up after TimTheTatman and he moved on into the next lobby, with his outrage soon turning on his YouTube viewers: “If I want to hear your advice, I’ll ask. It’s the worst thing you can do!” Timmy copped some flack too, with the Doc claiming he “choked.” Luckily for his streaming setup — which he claims is worth “$300k”, but Dexerto understands is valued at closer to $10k — the YouTuber didn’t physically lash out again, and instead just continued to heap his anger onto the Call of Duty feature he believes is “slowly killing” the franchise’s battle royale. “It’s disgusting the advantage controller players have, and really,” Dr Disrespect continued, “it feels like they’ve got seventh-grade training wheels on.” Dr Disrespect’s very public hatred of aim assist features in battle royale titles like Apex Legends and Warzone has been bubbling to the surface more and more in recent weeks, and let’s just say the Doc isn’t a fan. Last week, he even point-blank called it “a version of hacks.” The two-time is of the opinion that anyone playing on controller (and therefore using aim assist) could play Warzone “with your eyes closed” and still play well enough to score wins in Verdansk “because it’s just that easy”. It’s his belief Raven Software needs to remove the feature entirely. “At this point, you might as well just call it hacks,” he said. “It’s like a version of hacks. Except they’re not headshots, but all the bullets go onto your body.”

  • Dr Disrespect can’t catch a break with Warzone 2 stream snipers – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect can’t catch a break with Warzone 2 stream snipers Activision, Dr DisRespectDr Disrespect has encountered numerous stream snipers in Call of Duty: Warzone 2, so he edited a compilation video filled with noteworthy highlights. Cheating tactics have plagued online shooters for years, with crafty users always finding ways to one-up the competition by unconventional means. One such tactic involves stream sniping, which involves a player watching a content creator’s live stream in order to track them down on the battlefield. Call of Duty: Warzone 2’s proximity chat feature has apparently made streaming sniping all the more viable for some cheaters. Popular streamer Dr Disrespect is no stranger to sitting on the receiving end of this particular tactic, either. Warzone 2 stream snipers won’t give Dr Disrespect a break Doc’s latest YouTube video constitutes a 10-minute compilation, one replete with highlights of his interactions with Warzone 2 stream snipers. In the video, quite a few people find him through proximity chat and waste no time taking advantage of the situation. Others use tried and true stream sniping tactics, then brag about said tactics over proximity chat once it’s clear Dr Disrespect is listening. The content creator doesn’t always let stream snipers get the better of him, though. As seen in the compilation video above, Dr Disrespect often manages to outplay Warzone 2 users who resort to less-than-savory gameplay strategies. Notably, some users recently learned that proximity chat is not always a recipe for disaster. Warzone 2’s new chat feature has also resulted in stream snipers being caught red-handed. As the battle royale title continues to evolve, so, too, are these types of encounters between streamers and the average Call of Duty player.

  • Dr Disrespect urges Warzone 2 devs to overhaul “sluggish” movement ruining gameplay – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect urges Warzone 2 devs to overhaul “sluggish” movement ruining gameplay YouTube: Dr DisrespectDr Disrespect wants the Warzone 2 devs to make further movement changes following Season 3 Reloaded as he believes it is still too “sluggish” at times. Between the original Warzone and Warzone 2, much has been made about the difference in movement that players can pull off, especially when they’re stuck in a close-range gunfight with enemies. Warzone 2 lacks that supersonic speed that players had with Stim Shots and slide-canceling in Warzone originally, but, they are able to dive further to avoid foes. Though, there have been plenty of calls to take things back to the way they were previously. With Season 3 Reloaded, the devs tweaked movement a bit, increasing initial sliding acceleration by 6% and reducing weapon raise delay following a parachute landing by 30%, which, in theory, should allow players to engage faster. Though, Dr Disrespect believes there is still more to be done. Dr Disrespect wants further Warzone 2 movement changes after Season 3 Reloaded The Two-Time, who has had a rollercoaster relationship with the Call of Duty franchise over the last few years, jumped into the new update upon its launch but immediately found issues. He had problems after getting into a fight shortly after mantling on a piece of cover after climbing a ladder. “Ladder speed is not too bad. I’d increase it by about 15-20%, the climb speed, that’s all it needs,” The Doc said to kick things off. The streaming star added that the devs have made mantling “friendlier” as there is now an element of “strafe mantling” that needs to be looked into and adjusted. Timestamp of 18:30 He also hit out at flinching, noting that players shouldn’t be sent to look skywards after taking shots to the body. “There is way too much flinch with snipers man. Snipers are already irrelevant due to the damage and you’ve just made them not fun,” The Two-Time added. “Just an all-around sluggish game.” It remains to be seen if the devs will make any further changes, but The Doc is not alone in wanting things to be tuned a little more.

  • Dr Disrespect reveals what Warzone 2 needs to compete with Apex Legends and Fortnite – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect reveals what Warzone 2 needs to compete with Apex Legends and Fortnite YT: Dr Disrespect / Raven SoftwareDr Disrespect revealed two things Warzone 2 needs to compete with Apex Legends and Fortnite — a ranked system and a better map — but only if the devs “knock it out of the park”. On January 26, Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier revealed that Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is now in development, and is expected to release sometime in 2023. However, no further details have been announced yet. Naturally, that means there’s plenty of room for speculation. Players are already thinking about what it needs to compete with Apex Legends and Fortnite. Dr Disrespect, a mad Call of Duty fan, believe the sequel to the hit battle royale needs two things to thrive: a ranked system and better maps. “Apex Legends is in a great spot,” he said after watching the Season 13 trailer. “They’re absolutely crushing right now, and that’s good. It’s fulfilling a particular niche in the battle royale genre that everyone’s really enjoying competitively.” The two-time also praised Fortnite’s Zero Build Mode, admitting he “loves the movement” in the game and believes it’s “a lot of fun.” For that reason, he thinks Warzone 2 needs to learn a thing or two from them. Read More: Dr Disrespect lashes out at YouTube Gaming – “I think it has to be really be fine-tuned,” he said. “[They need to be] thinking about a potential ranked system similar to Apex Legends, [and they need to] knock it out of the park with modern fiction and a new map. “Rather than just being a new map and the same sort of formula, [they need to think about] how could it how it can evolve. It feels like a lost soul right now, doesn’t it? Every time I go into it, I’m just like, I don’t know.” The relevant part of the video starts at 3:51:10. Dr Disrespect has criticized Raven Software’s decisions in the past. He believes interest in Warzone is at an all-time low because of the direction they’ve steered things in, and even uninstalled the game because of it. Read More: Dr Disrespect arrives in WWE 2K22 – However, if they come through with the goods in Warzone 2, there’s a good chance he’ll be back — at least for a short while. In the meantime, though, he’d rather spend his time on Apex Legends and Fortnite.

  • Dr Disrespect completely loses it over Warzone 2 audio – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect completely loses it over Warzone 2 audio Dr Disrespect, ActivisionDuring a Call of Duty: Warzone 2 stream, Dr Disrespect went on a wild rant about the battle royale’s subpar audio quality. Dr Disrespect has made his disdain for many facets of Warzone 2 abundantly clear over the last several months. In the last few weeks alone, Doc’s labeled Warzone 2 the worst Call of Duty to date, blasted the self-revive mechanic, and mocked the “phony” changes in Season 2. The Two-Time’s latest YouTube stream took shots at another ongoing issue plaguing the battle royale – poor audio. Dr Disrespect critiques Warzone 2’s audio issues in recent rant During a lengthy live stream of Warzone 2, Doc briefly lets loose on the subpar audio quality. “Do you hear the f—ing ambiance in this game? This f—ing game’s audio is horrible, man, I hate it,” Dr Disrespect yelled into the mic. The popular streamer went on to specify how ridiculously loud the title can be in some circumstances, which is nothing shy of frustrating. For reference, the bit in question begins around the 2:46:50 mark in the following video: Viewers in the YouTube chat said they did notice an imbalance, with some calling the audio in Warzone 2 outright “atrocious.” Dr Disrespect isn’t the first to take note of Warzone 2’s audio-related troubles. Many players have pointed out the problem since the game’s launch late last year. Developers even released a patch to address Warzone 2’s much-needed audio improvements. Regardless of previous fixes and updates, it seems such errors continue to impact the in-game user experience. The jury’s still out on when exactly players can expect the game’s audio to meet expectations.

  • Dr Disrespect warns Warzone devs they’re making “huge mistake” with ADS changes – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect warns Warzone devs they’re making “huge mistake” with ADS changes YouTube: Dr Disrespect / Raven SoftwareDr Disrespect has issued Warzone developers Raven Software a grave warning — the controversial ADS changes they’re shipping in Season 1 are a “huge mistake,” and will kill the feeling of the battle royale completely. The two-time has begged Raven Software to rethink their changes to Warzone’s ADS mechanics, warning it “goes against basic design principles” and will drive players away. The Warzone devs met heavy backlash from the Call of Duty fandom this week after announcing plans to increase the battle royale’s time-to-kill across the board by “decreasing base ADS speeds” on all guns in the battle royale — a change they doubled down on just days later too. Now Dr Disrespect has joined the growing chorus. Like many, the two-time believes the Warzone devs are making a “huge mistake” nerfing ADS and need to rethink it before they do lasting damage to the game. The biggest worry, Dr Disrespect explained, is that by slowing aim speeds, Raven Software will also slow the “iconic” feel that makes Warzone what it is — a pace he claims they already hurt with Caldera’s introduction last year. “It goes against even the most basic design principles,” he said. “Believe it or not, they actually want to increase the ADS time of the game! To increase time to kill? Not damage, because only like two or three bullets get through the 7hz servers we play on. No, they’re increasing ADS times. “There’s no way I’d do something like that in a game I made,” he added. “Let me tell you, we won’t be doing that in Midnight Society. I want that game feeling fun.” “You want to make the game less fun? Less athletic? You want to give less immediate control to the player? As an answer? That’s not the way to go, at all. It’s a huge mistake. You want to make the game, especially Call of Duty, and especially here in Warzone, as athletic as possible. “Everyone wants TTK balanced, but this is not the way to do it Raven,” the Doc warned. “Everyone is saying it, and I agree. It’s not what we do around here!” “The way Warzone is now, it reminds me a lot of H1Z1 when it finally said, you know what, see ya,” Dr Disrespect added in a second barb to his ominous Warzone warning to the developers. “Wake the f**k up!” Raven Software has not told Warzone players when the planned ADS nerfs will ship live, but Dexerto is expecting to see them included in Season 2’s first patch.

  • Dr Disrespect warns Ninja about Modern Warfare return in classic Doc style – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect warns Ninja about Modern Warfare return in classic Doc style Dr Disrespect is the leader of the Champions Club, and the streamer issued a warning to Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins on Sunday, December 8 that a return to Modern Warfare wouldn’t be a recipe for victories for the Fortnite star. Ninja competed in all five weeks of the Fortnite Championship Series, and an impressive showing on the final day of the Finals saw his squad take home 8th place in North America, a worthy reward for the hard work he’s put in over the months to return to the game’s top table. The Mixer streamer used Twitter to discuss his performance, praising his teammates for their performance, and discussing how he now feels like he is “back up to par” with the top professional players in the scene. While many, including Ninja himself, were pleased with his showing in the FNCS Finals, Dr Disrespect wasn’t quite as impressed, with the two-time back-to-back Blockbuster Video Gaming Champion quickly responding to the tweet in trademark Doc style. “Here are my thoughts,” he wrote on Twitter. “You didn’t win.” As for a possible return to Call of Duty, The Doc warned against that idea too, stating: “If you come back to Modern Warfare again, you won’t win. Not against the back-to-back.” Here are my thoughts…. You didn’t win. And if you come back to MW again, you won’t win. Not against the back to back. — Dr Disrespect (@drdisrespect) December 8, 2019 Rather than firing back at Dr Disrespect, Ninja took a different approach with his response, sending back a question for The Doc, asking him if he remembered “when we were friends and you didn’t tear me down?” The Doc has been playing Modern Warfare since the game’s release in October, but the release of a remastered version of Halo Reach on PC has caught the streamer’s attention, who says it feels “so good” to play. Judging by his comments to Ninja though, he has no intention of leaving Modern Warfare behind permanently and is ready to take on the challenge of Ninja any time he wants to return to the legendary FPS.

  • Dr Disrespect wants Warzone to create streamer cosmetics like Fortnite’s Icon Series – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect wants Warzone to create streamer cosmetics like Fortnite’s Icon Series Activision / Dr Disrespect / Epic GamesWarzone is consistently dropping new operator skins and Dr Disrespect thinks Activision should create streamer cosmetics much like Fortnite’s Icon Series. Warzone Season 6 is underway and the spooky season is set to bring tons of Halloween-themed skins to the fray. Despite all these new skins that come out, there are still some things that the game hasn’t seen yet. Dr Disrespect thinks Activision should do something similar to what Epic Games did for Fortnite with its Icon Series and put marquee streamers into the game as skins. Dr Disrespect wants Warzone streamer cosmetics similar to Fortnite As Activision continues to dump out more and more bundles Dr Disrespect brings up the idea of creating skins so you can run around as your favorite Warzone streamer. In this clip, you can hear Doc throw around the idea of creating an “Influencer Pack” that would contain operator skins resembling Warzone streamers. Would you buy an influencer bundle in Warzone?pic.twitter.com/T5RnL22kgI — Dexerto (@Dexerto) October 11, 2021 “You throw the Two-time in here, or ‘Timmy-Tenders’ TimTheTatMan, or NICKMERCS, or Tfue, little blonde furball and short pink shorts and a Tesla. Like there’s so many different things you can do with the influencer pack.” While this is just an idea, it is something that another game is already doing. Fortnite has the Icon Series which has seen the likes of Ariana Grande, Ninja, LeBron James and more be a part of the skin line. If this came into Warzone, then it would allow players to run around Verdansk or the new Vanguard map looking like Dr Disrespect, TimTheTatMan, and others. Activision has worked with CDL teams and implemented basic team skins into Cold War before, so it could be something that the devs capitalize on for their biggest content creators.

  • Dr Disrespect wants Warzone to abandon “unplayable” Caldera already – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect wants Warzone to abandon “unplayable” Caldera already Dr Disrespect / ActivisionYouTube streamer Dr Disrespect has called on Raven to “scrap” Caldera already, highlighting the game’s issues and calling it “unplayable” in Warzone Pacific Season One. After nearly two years of Verdansk, December 2021 brought Caldera and a luscious Pacific environment to Call of Duty: Warzone. Whilst the change was welcomed by many hoping for new content in the battle royale, the game has been marred by a plethora of bugs and glitches since. That, paired with Raven’s break for the holidays, has led many to become frustrated with the sustained problems Warzone is experiencing. Some, like pro player and community favorite Aydan, have even considered leaving the game altogether. Another vocal critic of Warzone since the transition to the Pacific has been Dr Disrespect, the mustached YouTube entertainer known for his violence, speed, and momentum. In the past, he has urged Raven to “wake up” and fix the game’s invasive issues but, amid a frustrating lack of changes, he slammed the game for its problems during his January 7 stream. After winning a Gulag and dropping back in alongside TimTheTatman, the Doc was promptly eliminated in a flurry of bullets and audio problems. “The state of this game, for me, it’s almost unplayable,” he said. “So f**king terrible. It really is. I got network issues, I can’t see sh*t. You take two bullets, my game’s rubber-banding, there’s no audio. This map – I’d scrap it right now and already have like a new map. It’s a triple-A title.” Timestamp – 1:29:30 Unfortunately, despite the Doc’s wishes, it seems unlikely that Caldera will be going anywhere any time soon. Verdansk remained for just shy of two years and devs have emphasized Caldera as a long-term replacement in the past. The solution, then, seems to be simple: fix Warzone Pacific’s problems as soon as possible. With the devs back from their holiday break, we can hope upcoming patches go some way to doing just that.

  • Dr Disrespect wants Treyarch to take over Warzone after slamming current devs – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect wants Treyarch to take over Warzone after slamming current devs YouTube: Dr Disrespect/ActivisionStreaming star Dr Disrespect believes that Raven Software should either hand over control of Warzone to Treyarch or find some new devs to help move the battle royale forward. It’s been a little over a year since Warzone first launched as a part of Modern Warfare, and it’s gone from a battle royale add-on to perhaps the biggest game in the world. Like every other major game, it’s had its share of highs and lows, and as we approach Season 3 of the Black Ops Cold War era, players have become frustrated with the meta, overpowered weapons, and other general issues. Some players have called upon Raven Software, who handle Warzone, to make sweeping changes on a regular basis. And while they’ve already confirmed a laundry list of fixes for Season 3, Dr Disrespect wants them to hand over development to somebody else soon. The Doc was speaking on his April 16 stream where he teamed up with ZLaner and CourageJD to try out the new Sykov pistol. Like many, the Two-Time quickly realized that they were busted and needed a change. He suggested a change to player health to combat OP weapons, but eventually, he got on to a bigger change. “This game is really bad. I’ll step out and say it,” he said after dying and started listed off complaints about the audio and new zombies. “I don’t know who is running Warzone over at Activision but I think they’ve got to get a new crew on it,” Doc added. The YouTube streamer pointed the finger further at Raven later in the stream and said he hoped they were just handling the game between Modern Warfare and Cold War. “They’ve always been a support studio within Activision, but I think they’re just supporting this transition between Warzone and what the Cold War version is going to be,” the Doc added. “I’m hoping that once we get on the Cold War version, we get Raven the hell off of this game. Please, get off it, and let’s let Treyarch manage it for the next year.” There’s no telling if what Doc wants to happen will ever happen. Warzone appears to be a long-term staple of CoD, and having one studio run it makes more sense than it changing hands every year. Maybe Raven will be replaced, but who knows.

  • Dr DisRespect wants to talk business with Activision CEO ahead of Black Ops 4 release – Dexerto

Dr DisRespect wants to talk business with Activision CEO ahead of Black Ops 4 release Popular Twitch streamer Dr DisRespect has reached out to the CEO of Activision Blizzard, Bobby Kotick, and wants to talk business – most likely about the upcoming release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Developed by Treyarch, Black Ops 4 will be the next major release for Activision, and is expected to be the best-selling game of 2018 when it launches on October 12. Dr DisRespect has a particular interest in Call of Duty this year because of the new battle royale mode ‘Blackout’, which he has already revealed he will be hosting one of his ‘Code Red’ tournaments for. In fact, the Doc’s history with Call of Duty goes back quite far, as he previously worked at Sledgehammer Games on the development of 2014’s Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (in a professional capacity as Guy Beahm of course, not as the Doc). Known mainly as a battle royale player and streamer on Twitch, Dr DisRespect absolutely loved Blackout, and it sounds as though he has some million dollar ideas that he wants to share with Kotick. Although it is not certain what exactly he wants to discuss, the Doc always uses his ‘flip phone’ when making the ‘million dollar deals’ he often boasts about on stream. Dear @BobbyKotick , You and I have a lot to talk about in the upcoming months including feet on the floor tickets at Staples Center… Lakers vs Warriors. I’ll be waiting by the flip phone. — Dr DisRespect (@DrDisRespect) September 25, 2018 He even extends Kotick an invitation to meet in person at a basketball game, although we’re not sure who would be paying for such expensive seats. If it is a genuine request to Kotick, it most likely has to do with either the Doc’s Cod Red Blackout tournament, or another deal/promotion between him, his Twitch stream and Call of Duty. Other than Black Ops 4, only Spyro is Activision’s big upcoming release, and we somehow doubt that Dr DisRespect wants to get involved with a Spyro promotion – although with the Doc you can never be sure.

  • Dr Disrespect wants to spice up Modern Warfare’s ‘simple’ Gunfight maps – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect wants to spice up Modern Warfare’s ‘simple’ Gunfight maps Dr Disrespect isn’t all too pleased by the lack of variety in Modern Warfare‘s current Gunfight maps, and offered up a number of suggestions on how to freshen up the intense mode. Gunfight has been a welcome addition in Modern Warfare, pitting teams of two against each other for the first time in Call of Duty history. Since launch, the mode has skyrocketed in popularity attracting the likes of countless content creators such as Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins and Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek. Unhappy with the state of current maps in the frenetic mode, however, Dr Disrespect has chimed in and put forward his own takes on how to improve on the unique map design challenges moving forward. Formerly a Community Manager at Sledgehammer Games, Doc later transitioned into a Level Design role and worked on a number of popular Call of Duty maps featured in Advanced Warfare. Having dedicated a decent chunk of time to various 2v2 layouts already, the new mode appears to have rekindled his spark for level design as the popular Twitch streamer has been quick to criticize current Gunfight maps in rotation. “It’s 2v2. I think designing 2v2 maps is pretty easy,” he explained, comparing the smaller scale of Gunfight battlefields compared to the likes of sprawling 6v6 maps or even enormous Ground War layouts. “If I was a 2v2 map designer at the studio it would be fun to test some other ideas because I think right now…they’ve basically just designed symmetry with cover.” Taking issue with the repetitive designs seen throughout current Gunfight maps, Doc explained why he’s not a fan of the current formula. From Gulag Showers to the recently added Cargo map, a majority of matches tend to play out in similar fashion. Players are able to get an angle on their opponents right out of the gate, flanking routes exist to the far left or far right, and cover in the center ensures a limited amount of protection. Aiming to spice things up and breakaway from the norm, Doc’s creations would buck this predictable method and establish entirely new layouts to keep teams on their toes. “There’s two players, here’s a lane, here’s a choke-point, and here’s sort of like a flank lane. That would be my approach. I’d want to test some of those designs.” New concept art for the #ModernWarfare 2v2 map we built out for #Blocktober. 🖼 @thorsten_denk pic.twitter.com/3PfjKYdrjz — Dr Disrespect (@DrDisrespect) October 21, 2019 As a former map designer, and someone who often streams alongside professional Call of Duty players and rivals them in pro-am tournaments, Dr Disrespect evidently still has his finger on the pulse of the community. The Two-Time has already pushed out his own concepts too, so it could only be a matter of time until Infinity Ward collaborates with the Doc and implements a brand new design to shake up competitive Gunfight.

  • Dr Disrespect wants to make Advanced Warfare 2 maps, but on one condition – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect wants to make Advanced Warfare 2 maps, but on one condition YouTube/Dr DisrespectStreaming star Dr Disrespect is open to making maps for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare 2 amid rumors that it’s in development. Though, he’s got one condition for his involvement. Even though Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 isn’t even out, some CoD fans are looking to the future and what might come following the first-ever two-year cycle for a game in the modern era. Recent rumors suggest that a follow-up to 2014’s Advanced Warfare, aptly named Advanced Warfare 2 could be in development. However, there is plenty of split information on that front. YouTube star Dr Disrepect, who worked on some of the maps for the original game, is excited by the prospect of having another Call of Duty title focused around jetpacks after a few years of boots-on-the-ground games. And, he’d even be willing to get back to making maps if he was called upon. Dr Disrespect would make maps for Advanced Warfare 2 The Two-Time touched on the rumors during his October 5 stream, where he revealed his excitement for it all, suggesting that Advanced Warfare is the way to go for the next installment. He revisited a few of the maps he designed too, prompting fans to ask if he’d get back in the saddle and make a few more for Sledgehammer Games. “Hey, you know what, if the flip phone rang and they said something like hey you want to design a map? I’d be all for it man,” Doc answered. The streaming star further added that he’d do it, but not if they asked him to make a follow-up to Sideshow – a Clown-themed map that he described as Advanced Warfare’s answer to Nuketown. Timestamp of 37:30 While his answers might excite a few fans, The Doc and Call of Duty aren’t exactly buddy-buddy at the moment. The Two-Time has repeatedly hit at them for apparently ‘copying’ a character from his upcoming DEADROP game, as well as no longer being a CoD Partner with early access to Warzone 2. Though, who knows if that’ll change for a nostalgia trip.

  • Dr Disrespect wants to join Nadeshot by owning “powerhouse” CDL team – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect wants to join Nadeshot by owning “powerhouse” CDL team Call of Duty League / Twitter, @drdisrespectFollowing announcements that Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez had reacquired OpTic Gaming and Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag bought a Call of Duty League spot, Dr Disrespect has, once again, teased the possibility of buying a CDL team. [jwplayer br5AuoVJ] This is not the first time that the Doc has alluded to the Champions Club having a chance to represent at CDL Champs, and it appears unlikely to be the last. Back in early October, the man known as the Two-Time Champ suggested that he could get involved in Call of Duty ownership. When asked about owning a CDL franchise, Doc, whose real name is Guy Beahm, responded intriguingly: “Will I have my own? Probably not. Will I be a part as a shareholder? You never know…” Now, he appears to be doubling down on that interest, as the FPS icon applauded H3CZ and Nadeshot’s moves before imagining how special it would be for him to have his own team. In a YouTube video involving his Warzone gameplay, the Doc took an opportunity to discuss how exciting it would be for him and his fanbase to get involved in the esport. “You know what I was thinking about yesterday, champs? I think it’s fantastic that H3CZ is back in the league, Call of Duty, as an owner. And Nadeshot … Just imagine, ‘Doc has this team.’” Doc has clearly not stopped dwelling on the idea of CDL ownership and the league’s recent organizational news may have given him an added bump in the desire department. H3CZ is an owner who continues to regularly put out vlog content while Nadeshot is an owner who streams on Twitch, both proving how entertaining it is for fans to have owners who invest in their own content. Doc then elaborated on his interest, colorfully spelling out, in third person, how fun it would be for Call of Duty if he was part of an ownership group: “Now we got a narrative going. I feel like Doc can really shake up that narrative with a powerhouse team … the team would automatically adopt the Champions Club.” With H3CZ uniting the Green Wall under OpTic Chicago and Nadeshot bringing 100T back to CoD with the Los Angeles Thieves (who will also have the world’s first Warzone team), the prospects for the Champions Club getting involved are very exciting. Thus far, there has been no real business moves to earn Doc ownership, but it’s obviously something he’s trying to secure.

  • Dr Disrespect wants one major change to Warzone’s Verdansk map – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect wants one major change to Warzone’s Verdansk map YouTube: Dr Disrespect/ActivisionDr Disrespect wishes Raven Software would make a pretty major change to Verdansk, and it includes bringing POI’s from another map. Just like most other Warzone players, streaming star Dr Disrespect has continually raised issues with the battle royale and suggested changes that Raven Software could implement. Sometimes, the Two-Time suggests some pretty normal changes – including cutting the price for buy station in solos, speeding up the zone speed, and weapon tweaks as well. Yet, with this being The Doc, he also has some pretty outlandish ideas that might not be for everyone. That includes a map change he’d like to see made to Verdansk. During a recent stream, the Two-Time once again aired his complaints with solos, saying it was the “worst” battle royale experience he’s ever had – even saying PUBG was better. As a result, some fans offered up alternatives. Some suggested that he should play a different game, while others said he should just play the Rebirth Island modes and ignore Verdansk. Though, the Doc would rather mix the two. “Rebirth is lit? I don’t know man. It’s cool, it’s cool. I wish they’d just include Rebirth Island in Warzone and kind of put it in a nice spot,” he said. “Almost like… I don’t know, maybe at the bottom of the dam? In the middle of the river? I don’t know.” Timestamp of 7:14:29 The Doc noted that the story and lore around Warzone would ultimately need changing if it happened, but it’s a change he’d certainly be interested in. It is rather unlikely that it’ll be a change that Raven considers, given that the Verdansk 1984 map looks set to last until Call of Duty: Vanguard releases later this year, as we’ve seen POI’s leaked for the rumored pacific-themed map.

  • Dr Disrespect wants major change to revive system in Warzone – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect wants major change to revive system in Warzone Dr Disrespect/Infinity WardLegendary Twitch streamer Dr Disrespect revealed some changes that he’d like to see made to the self-revive system in Call of Duty: Warzone during a March 27 broadcast. While the two-time has been both critical and supportive of the latest battle royale experience, he believes that the revive mechanic, in particular, needs improvement. When asked if he believes there is skill-based matchmaking in Warzone, Doc admitted that he was unsure, because of “what people can get away with in the game.” “The RPGs, the vehicle combat, the thermal scopes across the map, people being revived – that whole self-revival thing, that’s a whole other thing. I think self-revive is a big issue,” he said. “It screws up fights, man.” According to the Doc, he believes that downed enemies should be only one shot away from death in close-quarters. That said, he had no issue with it being used when someone gets shot from the other side of the map. “If you down someone real quick it should only take one or two bullets to put this guy out,” he added. “Not a full clip. And then have his teammate come around the corner while you’re putting a full clip on the downed guy because you know he has self-revive and if you don’t do anything about it, he’s just going to get right back up.” For the two-time, he found some of the close-range fights don’t make sense because of the revive feature. “It’s just so stupid,” he continued. “So stupid!” That said, he does have a bit of a solution when it comes to self-revives. The game provides an audio indication when someone is revived by teammate or self-revived. He wants an audio cue during the whole revive process. Without warning, the two-time proceeded to do an impression of being brought back to life by sticking a revive kit in his chest. After groaning and doing some Oscar-worthy acting, he elaborated on his idea, and explained that it would be a major help if players knew an enemy was self-reviving around the corner. The concept is simple enoug,h and wouldn’t be a major hurdle for Infinity Ward to implement. Hopefully, they take Doc’s advice seriously and consider adding the revive audio to the game in a future update.

  • Dr Disrespect wants CoD to let him design Warzone’s next Gulag – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect wants CoD to let him design Warzone’s next Gulag YouTube / DrDisrespectAfter trying out the Warzone updates in Cold War’s Season One, Dr Disrespect is asking Activision to let him take a swing at designing the next iteration of the Gulag. Season One of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone launched on December 16 after a slight delay. New maps and weapons were added for players to enjoy, along with the highly anticipated loadout integration between Warzone and Cold War. Cold War’s weapons are not the only thing added to Warzone with Season One. Players have also been treated to a new Warzone map – Rebirth Island – and a brand-new Gulag experience to go with it. After playing the new Warzone content, Dr Disrespect reached out to Activision with a huge request: let him design the game’s next Warzone Gulag. Let me design a Gulag map. Flip phone battery is charged @Activision. — Dr Disrespect (@DrDisrespect) December 18, 2020 Dr Disrespect tweeted at Activision letting them know his flip phone is charged and he is willing to create the next Gulag experience for Warzone. While many know Dr Disrespect as a massive streaming personality, he was previously a map designer at Sledgehammer Games. While working at Sledgehammer, he designed many of the multiplayer maps for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The Doc has already shown he has the creative vision to design maps outside of Advanced Warfare. In October 2020, the Doc collaborated with Hi-Rez studios to create a map in Rogue Company based on Dr Disrespect’s e-sports facility, The Arena. https://twitter.com/drdisrespect/status/1316424137728954368 The move by Hi-Rez to collaborate with Dr Disrespect on designing a map was very successful. Gaming personalities like Nadeshot and CourageJD praised the company for working with the Doc to create a streamer-themed map. No one from Activision or Warzone’s development studios – Infinity Ward and Raven – has responded to the Doc’s tweet at the time of writing. However, this does not mean a future collaboration is out of the question. With strong connections to the Call of Duty brand and the various developers working on the franchise, there is certainly potential for Warzone players to see a Doc-designed Gulag at some point in the BR’s future.

  • Dr Disrespect wants a major change to Warzone in Black Ops Cold War – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect wants a major change to Warzone in Black Ops Cold War If anyone has played enough Warzone to recommend new features for the game, it’s the Two-Time. Whilst streaming, Dr Disrespect revealed that he’d like to see custom match settings implemented into Warzone with the release of Cold War. Since the Doc’s move to Youtube as a streaming platform, his notoriety and popularity have only risen. With over 3 million subscribers and a dedicated community he calls the ‘Champions Club’, Dr Disrespect has become one of the most recognizable online personalities on screen. His passion for the FPS genre is renowned and if anyone can offer new ideas for the future of Warzone, it’s him. In a recent stream, he discussed why he thinks custom match settings should be added to Warzone. Dr Disrepect’s Suggestion For Warzone The Doc isn’t the first player or personality to suggest custom settings for Warzone game modes. It’s an aspect of the game that the community has been requesting for a long time now. The ability to control and customize individual elements of a match gives the player a wealth of gameplay possibilities. Here’s exactly what the Doc had to say on the topic. “I really hope they consider this for Cold War… making sure that each game mode whether it’s Solos, Duos, Trios or Quads gets its own set of custom settings.” Of course, it would be tricky to give players complete control over every online match of Warzone. However, that’s where private lobbies come in to play. Private Warzone Lobbies Private Warzone lobbies appear to be the perfect solution for players seeking a complete custom experience. This would allow Infinity Ward to grant players the freedom they are seeking whilst maintaining the integrity of the main game modes. On top of this, private lobbies are an ideal feature for tournament organizers, allowing them to adjust and disable certain mechanics. It’s rumored Infinity Ward has plans to implement private lobbies in the near future. Fingers-crossed the changes set to evolve Warzone after the release of Cold War bring in these heavily requested features.

  • Dr Disrespect viciously threatens shroud ahead of Modern Warfare multiplayer reveal – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect viciously threatens shroud ahead of Modern Warfare multiplayer reveal Dr Disrespect – TwitchWith just one day remaining before the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer reveal, Dr Disrespect has issued a warning to fellow Twitch superstar Michael ‘shroud‘ Grzesiek. Dr Disrespect and shroud are among the several high-profile content creators that have been invited to participate in the global reveal event for Modern Warfare multiplayer on August 1. While it’s not yet known in what capacity the two Twitch stars will be involved, they’ll likely get the chance to play some matches, including ones that may pit the pair against each other. In anticipation of that, the Doc has already began flexing his competitive muscles, calling the former CS:GO pro “overrated” in one of his classic rants. Read More: Dr Disrespect casts shroud dominating PUBG – “He’s f*cking good at every game, and I’m getting sick of it,” he yelled. “He’s overrated!” But the ranting did not stop there. With Hans Zimmer’s iconic track ‘Time’ from the film Inception playing in the background, the Two-Time went on to issue a stern threat to shroud. “And tomorrow shroud, you’re going to feel the pain,” he said maniacally. “I’m going to grab you, I’m going to SQUEEZE! I’m going to taste your shroud! And we’re going to snap! Don’t get it mistaken.” Read More: Shroud shows “psycho” side on VR game – If his words weren’t enough to send a message, his antics surrounding the dialogue definitely sealed the deal, most notably the globs of saliva that were streaming from his mouth and the almost inhuman screech he gave at the end. And that’s not mentioning the fact that there was an animation of a detective’s tracking board playing in the background the whole time, with an image of shroud set as all of the suspects’ pictures . • Dr Disrespect urges Warzone devs to “wake up” before it becomes next H1Z1 – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect urges Warzone devs to “wake up” before it becomes next H1Z1 Dr Disrespect/ActivisionDr Disrespect has compared Warzone to H1Z1 when the original battle royale phenomenon fell off a cliff, and has urged the Call of Duty devs to “wake up” and address the game’s issues. With Call of Duty: Warzone being given a new map amid the integration with Call of Duty: Vanguard, expectations were pretty high for fans of the battle royale. However, things have gone a little south. Many players have taken aim at Raven Software and Activision over the current state of the battle royale – with many frustrated with the map, lack of updates, and the addition of things like the Krampus enemy. A number of big streamers have, once again, turned their back on the CoD battle royale and started playing different things in its place. That includes Dr Disrespect, who has played every battle royale under the sun. The YouTube streaming star isn’t one to hold back when there’s something that he doesn’t like in a game, and has routinely criticized the Warzone developers. The Two-Time was left frustrated with a number of ‘dev error’ issues causing his game to crash and then not even open when he tried to restart it. He wanted to fire off a strongly-worded tweet, and while he held back on that, he did air some grievances on stream. “Reminds me a lot of H1Z1 when it finally said, you know what, see ya,” the Doc noted before recording a message aimed at the devs. “That’s a dev error, second time my f**king game has crashed today. I also can’t launch my game from the launcher. Also, we’ve got this s**t character Krampus inside of the game that has been there for weeks and nobody wants it. Wake the f**k up!” Timestamp of 6:26:53 Calling on the devs to make drastic changes is something that the Doc is well versed in, and he even predicted that Caldera wouldn’t solve all the headaches that fans had. It remains to be seen if his new calls will be heard, or if he’ll rekindle his love affair with something like Apex Legends or Escape from Tarkov instead.

  • Dr Disrespect urges Warzone devs to release new map within “2 to 3 months” – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect urges Warzone devs to release new map within “2 to 3 months” Activision / YT: Dr DisrespectYouTube streamer Dr Disrespect has urged the Warzone devs to launch a new map to replace Caldera within the next few months, claiming the Pacific environment isn’t fit to last a year. Prior to the release of Caldera and Warzone Pacific back in December, Warzone fans were excited at the prospect of a new map and a move away from Verdansk. The excitement has subsided though, and given way to relative turmoil as bugs, glitches, and cheating rule supreme on the sun-soaked environment. Activision have even apologized to CoD fans for the prevalent problems. Dr Disrespect is among those who have criticized the game in recent weeks and, in a January 15 live stream, he doubled down on his comments and called for a new map. After a viewer told The Doc that “Warzone is boring,” he weighed in with his thoughts on Caldera and the Pacific update, and they weren’t exactly complimentary. “Warzone is so boring, I’m with you,” he said. “I’m actually with you on that one. I think if I were them [Activision] I’d work on a [new map]. F**k man, that’s gonna be a long time. “If they had a strong pipeline they’d already have another map in the works. And almost finished and ready.” Timestamp for mobile users – 29:20 He continued, saying he hopes to see a completely new map very soon: “And then you push it out in like 2 months, 3 months. Because there’s just no way that map can fly for the next year. Champs am I wrong on that or? I don’t think this map can fly for another year.” The Doc is far from the only community figure to criticize Caldera but, given the time Verdansk was with us and the undoubted effort that went into its creation, we can’t see it being abandoned before the release of CoD 2022 at the earliest.

  • Dr Disrespect urges Warzone 2 devs to fix “broken” UAV perk – Dexerto

Dr Disrespect urges Warzone 2 devs to fix “broken” UAV perk Dr Disrespect/ActivisionDr Disrespect has urged the Warzone 2 devs to fix the “broken” Birdseye perk as soon as possible as he’s unable to tell who is hacking and who isn’t. The arrival of Warzone 2 has given players a revamped take on the popular Call of Duty battle royale, with massive changes to the lotting system, weapons, and even the addition of NPCs. While plenty of players have lapped up the changes, there have also been quite a number of headaches as well. Cheaters and hackers might not be as rampant as they once were, but they still pop up. That’s not to mention issues with audio, pings not working, and having parts of the map not spawning correctly. Perks had also been a source of frustration for players, given they weren’t quite working as intended. Recent updates have gotten things back on track on that front, but the Birdseye perk is also pretty busted. Dr Disrespect fumes at “broken” Birdseye mechanic in Warzone 2 The perk, which allows players to see which direction enemies are facing when they have a UAV up, caused a number of headaches for Dr Disrespect and his duo ZLaner during a recent round of games. It was ZLaner who initially voiced his frustration with the perk, saying he will “slowly but surely not enjoy playing” Warzone 2 because of the perk. The Doc echoed that thought and promptly called for a change as Z noted there isn’t a real counter. “Yeah, I know! Dude, that is a broken mechanic right now man. That should be immediately fixed.” Timestamp of 22:30 The Two-Time added that it could be “the worst bug to date” as it “changes the complete dynamic of everything” in the battle royale. It remains to be seen if the devs will spring into action and make a change, but it’s clear that The Doc and Z aren’t happy, and plenty of other players aren’t either.
