Aydan’s team wins Hitch’s $20K Black Ops 2 tourney: final results Activision / Twitter: HitchariideTeam Summertime’s Davis ‘Hitch’ Edwards returned for his final event of the Call of Duty League offseason by hosting an enormous Black Ops 2 Invitational that featured former champions and popular content creators. [jwplayer sEnFsekG] Throwback tournaments have been all the rage throughout the 2020 offseason and no one has been leading the charge quite like Hitch. Outside of hosting Warzone comps, his unique tournaments have spanned from Modern Warfare 2 to Black Ops 4. This time, his sights were set on 2012’s Black Ops 2. Despite hackers ruining an early test for this particular event, the kinks were all worked out. From former championship-winning teams to some of the biggest content creators, Hitch’s final event was set to be the biggest yet. From which team won it all, to every player that joined the all-star Call of Duty event, we’ve got you covered. Here’s everything there is to know about the Black Ops 2 Invitational. Black Ops 2 Invitational recap The day started out with some banger matchups on paper, though the opening results were all fairly lopsided. Scump’s team cruised past Pamaj and his squad. CouRage led his team to a clean sweep over Dr Disrespect and his partners. While Team Aydan and Team TeePee blitzed through their opponents as well. From the second round, however, things got a lot closer. Aydan, Ritual, Kismet, & Parasite proved that their mouse and keyboard prowess is nothing to mess with. They eked out a series win over some of the experienced CoD pros in TeePee, Karma, Crimsix, & ACHES. Though after another few rounds of action, these teams would ultimately matchup once again in the Grand Finals. Mirroring the first showdown, these rival squads went blow for blow yet again as they fought through to a fifth and final map. It came down to Search and Destroy on Express but it was Aydan’s team that closed the show with a 6-4 victory. They took down the former world champions and secured the first place prize as a result. How to rewatch the Black Ops 2 Invitational The final event of the offseason kicked off on Wednesday, October 28. Opening matchups went live at 3PM EST (12PM PT) and the broadcast ran through most of the day. As per usual, it was all broadcasted on Hitch’s own Twitch stream which we’ve embedded below. A good number of players and creators were also sharing their perspectives throughout the event. Black Ops 2 Invitational teams & bracket Some squads featured some of the most successful Call of Duty veterans while others consisted of popular streamers. Regardless, every team was stacked with FPS talent so matchups were close. Standing out among the eight rosters was a true throwback. The 2014 world championship team of Crimsix, Karma, TeePee, and ACHES, was reuinited. Formerly representing Complexity and then Evil Geniuses, these four players hadn’t been on the same team since 2014. ** FINAL TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT ** $20,000 Black Ops II Charity Invitational presented by @TurtleBeach & @ROCCAT Tomorrow. 3pm Eastern.Team Teepee@TylerTeeP @Crimsix @DKarma @ACHES pic.twitter.com/tFcQ9f8FjX — OpTic Hitch (@hitchariide) October 28, 2020 The full list of teams that competed in the Black Ops 2 Invitational can be found below. Aydan’s “no recoil” Mac 10 Warzone loadout to dominate Verdansk – Dexerto
Aydan’s “no recoil” Mac 10 Warzone loadout to dominate Verdansk YouTube: Aydan/ActivisionIf you’ve played Warzone at all since the launch of Season 1’s Black Ops Cold War integration, you’ll have encountered the Mac-10 SMG plenty of times — but Aydan’s loadout for the gun will help you take out all of your enemies even quicker. While the Kilo 141 and R9-0 shotgun was the class of choice prior to Season 1 dropping, players have switched in their droves to the DMR tactical rifle with a Mac-10 in their back pocket, helping dominate at all ranges and take down enemies quickly and efficiently. These guns paired together really do provide the best of both worlds, but the question then becomes how you can optimize them to perform at their very best, and as one of the best players to grace Verdansk, Aydan is definitely someone to look to for inspiration. He’s always on top of the meta, and the leaderboards, placing highly in tournaments whenever he takes part, so this Mac-10 could be perfect. Aydan Mac-10 Warzone loadout The one major thing to take note of in the following loadout is that it lacks the underbarrel grip most players run with, the Field Agent Grip — but this weapon’s recoil shouldn’t be too hard to control anyway. Here’s what Aydan’s Mac-10 Warzone loadout looks like: Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Barrel: 5.9” Task Force – Stock: No Stock – Ammunition: STANAG 53 Rnd Drum – Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap – Aydan decided to get rid of the Field Agent Grip due to the minimal recoil reduction it offers, calling it “kind of minor,” opting instead for the No Stock to increase Sprint to Fire time, making it even more responsive when suddenly having to engage an opponent. While Aydan uses No Stock, he says you can also try out the Raider Stock, but his preference is the former. So, give this one a go and take it into Warzone — it might not help you play like Aydan, but it’s well worth a try and can certainly help you up your game.

Aydan’s new C58 Warzone loadout set to shake up Season 4 meta – Dexerto
Aydan’s new C58 Warzone loadout set to shake up Season 4 meta NYSL/ActivisionWarzone star Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad is rocking a brand-new set-up for the C58 assault rifle, and not only is it pretty deadly, but it could also become the new meta standard. Ever since making the switch from Fortnite, Aydan has been dominating the Warzone scene, racking up tournament wins and different world records in abundance. Just like everyone else, the New York Subliners content creator is always looking to mix up his loadouts and try out different classes in Verdansk. With the C58 becoming one of the most popular assault rifles in the battle royale, Aydan has started to give it some love, even if he does prefer the FARA just a little bit more. In his July 27 video, the former Fortnite pro showed off his unique take on a C58 loadout, with which he’s had great success. While some previously meta C58 classes used the STANAG 55 Rnd mag and Serpent Wrap as a back grip, Aydan isn’t using either. Instead, his class uses the 45-round drum mag and he opts for a Field Agent Grip underbarrel rather than a rear grip. Elsewhere his choices are pretty normal, opting for the Agency Suppressor, 18.5′ Task Force Barrel, and 3x Axial Arms optic. Aydan’s C58 Warzone loadout class Suppressor: Agency Suppressor – Barrel: 18.5′ Task Force Barrel – Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip – Ammo: 45 Rnd Drum Mag – Optic: 3x Axial Arms – Like many other players, he pairs the assault rifle with an MP5, giving him solid coverage when it comes to short and mid-range fights. Some players have compared the C58 to the pre-nerf AMAX and while Aydan admits would opt for the FARA, you can’t really go wrong with either weapon.

This is especially important in close-quarter firefights, where quick reactions and movements are highly advantageous. Lengthened also increases the Welgun’s bullet Velocity, which makes it easier to hit distant targets. Aydan’s duo wins FaZe Swagg Summer Warzone Invitational: final results – Dexerto
Aydan’s duo wins FaZe Swagg Summer Warzone Invitational: final results FaZe Clan[jwplayer br5AuoVJ]The latest Call of Duty: Warzone’s tournament is now in the books, as FaZe Swagg’s Summer Warzone Invitational took place on August 17 with a tremendous cast of high-profile streamers. Swagg is one of Warzone’s most popular streamers and one of the hottest stars of 2020. He’s a finalist for the Esports Awards Streamer of the Year and even a Warzone World Record holder. Not only that, but he’s a proven competitor, having recently won $100,000 Toronto Ultra Warzone tournament alongside NICKMERCS and DiazBiffle. Now, he’s shifted to hosting his own event with an Activision-partnered $25,000 single-day Duos tournament. Featuring some of the biggest names on Twitch and many of the most popular Warzone personalities, the Summer Invitational took over Twitch on August 17. The fierce competition ran for roughly 5 hours and we’ve got you covered with a full recap below. FaZe Swagg’s Summer Warzone Invitational Recap With many familiar faces battling it out in the latest Warzone event, competition was as fierce as ever. Duos had a full three-hours to make their mark and dominate Verdansk. Some teams got off to a hot start with high-kill wins right away. Meanwhile, others took a while to get going but soon found their rhythm with back to back victories. The lowest score any team put up was still quite significant with 165 points coming from jSmoothHD and colorss95. Notable names were knocked out of contention early on as even the likes of Swagg found himself eliminated from his own tournament. Alongside NICKMERCS, the duo fell to 17th place overall with 169 points to their name after three hours. Cracking into the top eight was an extremely tight battle with six teams all finishing within 30 points of each other. Ultimately, the second portion of the event saw duos like previous event winners HusKerrs and Symfuhny taking on Nadeshot and Exzachtt head to head. With just two games in this phase, the intensity ramped up a notch but it was Aydan and MuTeX squaring off against Tommey and AlmxndTV in the grand finals. The former found a lead in the first map, closing out an overall win to boot. The second round could not have been closer, however, as the gap began to close and just two kills separated the teams at various stages. Aydan and MuTeX were able to keep this two kill lead moving forward. Eventually closing out the event as the overall winners as Tommey and AlmxndTV went down. FaZe Swagg’s Summer Warzone Invitational Results (Top 8) Who competed in the Summer Warzone Invitational? Swagg competed in his own tournament with NICKMERCS as the duo looked to regain their form after a tough performance at the $15k TeeP’s Trials Warzone tournament. But they were also joined by various other renowned players and streamers. Among those competitors, the aforementioned TeePee made an appearance as well as two of FaZe Clan’s other top players: FaZe Blaze and FaZe Pamaj. Rounding things out, accomplished competitors like Aydan, Vikkstar, and DougIsRaw were also in attendance. Things are heating up for a #SwaggSummer in Verdansk… Join us in welcoming the first group of players dropping in for @Swagg’s Summer @CallofDuty Warzone Invitational this Monday, August 17th! pic.twitter.com/KN1Zvy6kGb — FaZe Clan (@FaZeClan) August 15, 2020 Format & rules FaZe Swagg’s Warzone event was broken into two unique sections. The first half of the tournament saw teams battling for a spot in the top eight in order to advance through. It was a three-hour kill race in which their five best games were taking into consideration. Duos could drop in as many times as they liked throughout this three-hour window but ultimately it came down to who had the best performances on average. Transitioning to the second stage of the event placed the top eight teams into a single-elimination bracket. From here, competition became even more intense as duos were forced to pair up with other duos and drop into the quads playlist. Teams would play two games in the same lobby and the duo with the highest kill count overall then advanced through the bracket. This format continued until a winner was crowned in the grand final showdown. FaZe Swagg’s Summer Warzone Invitational Streams For viewing of the event, fans were able to tune into FaZe Clan’s Twitch channel for overall coverage that started at 1 p.m. PT. However, individual streamers were also sharing their POVs throughout the competition. We’ve embedded a few broadcasts below for your convenience. With Infinity Ward deploying an emergency patch to fix the infamous “demon glitch,” guns were fixed for this tournament and did not appear as corrupted graphical monstrosities. This was a welcome sight for fans, but an even better change for the sanity of the Swagg Summer Invitational’s competitors. Keep your eyes peeled for future announcements as the success of this initial event is likely to see more coming soon.

Aydan’s “big brain” Warzone strat completely bamboozles enemies – Dexerto
Aydan’s “big brain” Warzone strat completely bamboozles enemies Andbox / ActivisionCall of Duty: Warzone’s highest earner, Aydan, pulled off what some people are calling ‘the smartest play ever’ — a ridiculous rooftop bait that can completely fool aggressive enemies and turn them into easy kills. Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad is Warzone’s highest earner (and a regular on the monthly power rankings) for a number of reasons. One such reason has got to be his brainpower, as evidenced in a new clip that players are already scrambling to digest and emulate. While competing in a tournament with UnRationaL, Aydan was shooting enemies from a rooftop and was warned that there was an enemy beneath him. Somewhat concerned, but mostly annoyed by the enemy indecisively slinking around, the Warzone star pulled off an impromptu bait to force his hunter’s hand. In the play, Aydan jumps and quickly activates his parachute, while remaining on the roof’s ledge, so that his enemy, tricked by the sound effect, assumes the roof is clear. Then, the streamer easily kills his foe, who is so confused that they assume Aydan is hacking. Throwing chat and Twitter into intelligence-appreciating fervor, the hopeful predator instantly turns into prey with Aydan’s strat. Without saying a word, the Verdansk demon instinctively tries the parachute bait — which lasts for about a second — before immediately turning and awaiting his enemy. The unsuspecting assailant then, like clockwork, climbs the ladder and stares off of the rooftop, tricked by the parachute sound into believing Aydan had jumped away. There are few kills easier than one in which you get on top of a rooftop and shoot someone slowly parachuting off of it. Robbed of that joy by this absolute trickery, the outplayed victim dropped some colorfully worded death comms: “Yeah, nice f**king cheats, kid.” As evidenced by the replies, quote tweets, and Twitch chat frenzy, people were absolutely astonished by this simple, yet effective maneuver. Still, talking about it after the match, Aydan reacted with nonchalance: “I finessed him, bro … he actually fell for it.” It was pulled off casually, but even UnRationaL — who has won Warzone tournaments and secured world records — was bewildered by his teammate’s play: “Dude, that was disgusting … I probably would have fallen for it, too.” The parachute mechanics in Warzone can be clunky sometimes, but it appears that you can occasionally use the sound effect to your advantage. While it’s unclear how consistently this strat can be pulled off or what buildings it is restricted to, Verdansk is full of red rooftops and you can be sure people are going to start experimenting.

Aydan makes huge Warzone vow after ditching CoD battle royale for Apex Legends – Dexerto
Aydan makes huge Warzone vow after ditching CoD battle royale for Apex Legends Twitch: Aydan / Raven Software / Respawn EntertainmentStar Warzone streamer Aydan Conrad has vowed to leave the popular Call of Duty battle royale behind until “something changes,” ditching the game he’s earned more than $300k in to join the growing Apex Legends exodus. Aydan, like many Warzone stars recently, has been struggling with the Call of Duty battle royale and its controversial Pacific changes, not least of all the Caldera map. For the 22-year-old Twitch streamer, Warzone is reaching a point of no return. During Caldera’s long-hyped — and rather lackluster — launch, Aydan declared he may “quit Warzone entirely” over the tropical changes, and now he’s delivered on that threat, swapping over to archrival franchise Apex Legends. When leaving, he dropped a huge Warzone vow too. “Today is the first day I’m not playing Warzone,” he declared. “Gonna be tough and hurts the feels, but that game sucks. [It] needs changing before I hop on again.” Today is the first day I am not going to play Warzone. Gonna be tough for sure and hurts the feels, but that game sucks and needs some changing before I hop on again. Silver 1 in Apex, goal is to hit Platinum tonight! 😆 — Aydan (@aydan) December 29, 2021 The Twitch star has been toying with the idea of ditching Warzone for Apex Legends for weeks now, motivated partially by the CoD battle royale’s sorry state, and the success fellow star NICKMERCS has found with a similar move. Aydan said he was “losing his passion for Warzone and Call of Duty,” and after trying Apex Legends declared it was “refreshing as f**k” compared to its rivals. Despite that, he’s not entirely sold just yet either. “I’m not in love with Apex yet, I can say that,” the Warzone star explained while playing the Respawn battle royale in his December 29 stream. “[The problem is] I can’t play it for eight hours straight yet. I can only play like three or four hours at a time, [but] I just love the ranked mode so much. “If there was no ranked mode, I wouldn’t play this game,” he added, “but the Apex Legends ranked mode is just so good. Having something to work towards is key.” Apex Legends isn’t the first rival battle royale to catch Aydan’s eye as he looks for a “refreshing” game to play instead of Warzone heading into 2022 either. The 22-year-old dropped back in old flame Fortnite before Christmas, declaring he was “embarrassed to be a Call of Duty player” right now. He has suggested several times he will be playing pro leagues in the Epic Games title soon too, with the next Cash Cup running on January 10. And Aydan made it clear that, even if Apex or Fortnite win his heart, he won’t rule out a Warzone return either: “I don’t think I’m gonna, not yet, but we’ll see.”

Aydan reveals key changes he would make to Warzone 2 – Dexerto
Aydan reveals key changes he would make to Warzone 2 Aydan, Activision BlizzardProfessional Call of Duty player and content creator Aydan shared the changes he’d like to see implemented in the newly released Warzone 2. Activision and Infinity Ward dropped Warzone 2 yesterday, inviting millions of players around the globe to explore the latest phase of Call of Duty’s battle royale. It didn’t take long for early impressions to hit the web, of course. While some users are enjoying Warzone 2 and its DMZ mode, others, such as Seth ‘Scump’ Abner, find the overall experience lacking. As opinions from popular streamers and pro players continue to roll in, content creator Aydan has thrown his two cents into the conversation. Aydan reveals list of changes he wants for Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Pro Call of Duty player Aydan has shared a number of “wants and needs” for the Warzone sequel on his personal Twitter account. The list includes higher TTK, additional mobility options beyond cars, improved movement mechanics, and custom perk packages. Aydan further noted a need for extra ways to earn cash, or, at the very least, price reductions on items in the in-game shop. Some users in the replies seem to agree with Aydan’s wants for Warzone 2; however, others appear at odds with the list. “So basically you want regular Warzone,” one person asked – a question that mirrored comments made by several more people. Suggestions that the game needs time to breathe, or that Infinity Ward should focus on tackling bugs and performance issues, count among the more popular replies, as well. At present, the discourse surrounding Warzone 2 is pretty mixed within the community. But perhaps that will change in the days and weeks ahead. Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is playable now across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.

Aydan unveils his Owen Gun Warzone loadout that rivals the MP40 – Dexerto
Aydan unveils his Owen Gun Warzone loadout that rivals the MP40 Activision/AydanThe Owen Gun is a deadly SMG in Warzone and it continues to climb up the meta rankings. Recently CoD pro, Aydan, demonstrated just how lethal this Vanguard weapon can be with his meta Owen Gun loadout. While the MP40 continues to dominate the Warzone SMG meta, the Owen Gun has been steadily making its way through the rankings. In fact, this punchy weapon currently has an incredibly high 1.34 K/D ratio, which puts it among the most deadly firearms in the game. Not only does the Owen Gun come packed with great mobility and accuracy, but Aydan’s loadout also enhances its damage and fire rate even further. This makes it an incredibly dominant pick on Caldera, especially when you can capitalize on its close-range capabilities. To help you maximize your kill potential Warzone, Aydan has revealed all the attachments you should be using on the Owen Gun. Aydan’s Owen Gun Warzone loadout Muzzle: Recoil Booster – Barrel: Gawain 188mm Shrouded – Optic: Slate Reflector – Stock: Removed Stock – Underbarrel: Mark VI Skeletal – Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 72 Round Drums – Ammunition: Incendiary – Rear Grip: Stippled Grip – Perk 1: Acrobatic – Perk 2: Quick – Aydan’s Owen Gun loadout focuses on maximizing the SMG’s ADS speed, making it incredibly quick in close-quarter firefights. The Gawain 188mm Shrouded, Removed Stock, and Mark VI Skeletal drastically speed up the guns aim down sight speed. This means you’ll instantly be able to zap onto enemy players and unleash a stream of highly accurate fire. In fact, the 7.62 Gorenko 72 Round Drums and Stippled Grip help to reduce recoil, which is incredibly important for those that wish to land those all-important headshots. Pair this with the clean sight from the Slate Reflector and added damage from the Incendiary rounds, and you have a loadout that can down even the most well-armored foes. In order to make the Owen Gun even speedier, Aydan has bolstered the fire rate and bullet velocity. Both the Recoil Booster, Gawain 188mm Shrouded, and 7.62 Gorenko 72 Round Drums greatly maximize the SMG’s ability to down opponents in a matter of seconds. Lastly, the Acrobatic and Quick perks will enable you to effortlessly run rings and drop shot your foes, while giving you the speed needed to rush down any threats. It’s certainly clear to see why Aydan managed to claim a dominant victory with this Owen Gun loadout, so make sure you give it a go.

Aydan unveils his best Warzone Milano class after Season 4 buffs – Dexerto
Aydan unveils his best Warzone Milano class after Season 4 buffs YouTube: Aydan/ActivisionWarzone star Aydan has got a deadly Milano class that might be worth testing out following its buff in Season 4, as he believes it could be pretty viable. With the highly-anticipated Warzone Season 4 update finally hitting the servers, fans of Raven Software’s battle royale have got plenty of new content to sink their teeth into. On top of the map changes, new vehicles, and new weapons, plenty of long-standing guns have also been changed, and that includes the Milano. The SMG was pretty deadly when Black Ops Cold War first launched, but has slipped down the usage charts as other options have risen up. However, after its recent buff, it could be worth trying out. Aydan’s Milano Warzone loadout At least, that’s what Aydan believes. The Warzone star dropped a 44-kill game with the SMG in Season 4, and says it could be viable in tournaments, even if it doesn’t crack the top end of the battle royale’s meta. “I don’t know if it’s meta… I definitely think it’s viable for tournaments,” the former Fortnite pro stated. “It’s pretty nuts, it’s consistent from all ranges, and it’s super fun.” What is unusual about his setup, however, is that it’s built to be used through hipfire, which is why you’ll see the laser grip, drum magazine, and bruiser grip take pride of place. Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Barrel: 10.6″ Task Force – Laser: SWAT 5mw Laser Sight – Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip – Ammunition: STANAG 55 round drum – While the Milano might not be on the same level as say the MAC-1o, it’s not too far away. It’s started to rise back up in terms of usage, sitting at 13th overall on WZRanked’s stats. As some players look to keep their loadouts fresh, it might be worth giving the SMG a go for a few games to see if it’s really as good as Aydan believes.

Aydan unveils best MP5 Warzone loadout for Season 6 – Dexerto
Aydan unveils best MP5 Warzone loadout for Season 6 Activision / AydanThe Cold War MP5 continues to be a mainstay within Warzone’s Season 6 meta and CoD pro Aydan has the best loadout for you to use. SMG loadouts are incredibly important for any Warzone player looking to increase their kill potential in close-quarters firefights. Currently, the best SMGs in Warzone are the Cold War MP5 and OTs 9. While both guns dominate the game’s meta rankings, Aydan has demonstrated just how lethal the MP5 can be. Featuring both great mobility and fantastic damage, the MP5 is a must-pick secondary that can give you a huge advantage. This is especially true if you use Aydan’s best MP5 loadout in Warzone Season 6. Here are all the best attachments you should be using to get that competitive edge. Aydan’s MP5 Warzone loadout Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight – Stock: Raider Stock – Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip – Ammunition: STANAG 50 Rnd drum – Aydan’s MP5 loadout focuses on maximizing the SMG’s mobility, making it incredibly agile in close-quarter firefights. Just like most Black Ops Cold War SMG loadouts, Aydan has utilized the Agency Suppressor and Tiger Team Spotlight. Read More: Best Warzone EM2 class loadout – The Agency Suppressor boosts the gun’s effective damage range, bullet velocity, recoil control, and suppresses your shots. Combine this with the added movement speed from the Tiger Team Spotlight and you have an incredibly reactive loadout. To help make the MP5 as quick as possible, Aydan has attached the Raider Stock and Bruiser Grip. Both these attachments drastically increase your mobility, which enables you to aggressively flank your foes. The added 30% to strafe speed is also great when you wish to avoid incoming fire. Read More: 10 most popular weapons in Warzone – Rounding things off at the bottom of the attachment list is the STANAG 50 Rnd drum. This ammo attachment ensures you have plenty of rounds to down multiple opponents – an area that is very important when grabbing squad wipes. It’s certainly not hard to see why Aydan secured 38 kills with this MP5 loadout, so be sure to give it a go when you next drop into Verdansk.

Aydan unveils best EM2 Warzone loadout to dominate close-range fights – Dexerto
Aydan unveils best EM2 Warzone loadout to dominate close-range fights AydanThe EM2 assault rifle made its debut in Season 5 and Warzone pro Aydan has been demonstrating just how lethal it truly is. Warzone Season 5 saw the introduction of the EM2 assault rifle and a new SMG called the Tec-9. Since then, players have been experimenting with both weapons in order to come up with the most OP loadouts. While the EM2 may not be as strong as the top AR picks, it is still capable of dishing out some truly terrifying damage. This is especially true if you equip it with the best attachments. Recently, Aydan showcased just how competent the EM2 can be. Not only did he secure a whopping 54 kills using this loadout, but he also believes the EM2 is one of the best secondary weapons in the game. Whether you’re looking to switch up your loadout or just looking for that next meta pick, then Aydan’s EM2 loadout is a great choice. Aydan’s EM2 Warzone loadout Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight – Optic: Microflex LED – Stock: Raider Stock – Ammunition: 40 Rnd – Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap – Unlike our own EM2 loadout that focuses on maximizing the AR’s accuracy and range, Aydan’s is purely based on close-quarters firefights. To ensure the gun is as quick as possible, the Warzone pro has attached the Serpent Wrap. This attachment speeds up the gun’s ADS speed, which enables you to quickly zap onto players’ heads in an instant. Meanwhile, the added movement/sprint to fire speed from both the Tiger Team Spotlight and Raider Stock also helps with rushing down your foes. Timestamp of 1:15 The EM2 may not be the fastest firing AR in the game, but it makes up for this with its incredible close-quarters damage. To make the most of this gun’s damage potential, Aydan has opted for the Microflex LED to better track enemy combatants. Having a clean optic that doesn’t obstruct your view is incredibly important, particularly in close-range skirmishes. Lastly, the 40 Rnd magazine will give you enough ammo to gun for those all-important double kills, allowing you to take down multiple opponents in one go. If you use Aydan’s EM2 loadout as deadly secondary, you’ll be destroying players across Veerdansk in no time. Make sure you check out our Call of Duty page for all the latest Warzone news and updates.

Aydan & Tommey rally Warzone pros to boycott controversial kill-race format – Dexerto
Aydan & Tommey rally Warzone pros to boycott controversial kill-race format Activision / New York Subliners / 100 ThievesWarzone’s controversial timed kill-race format could be nearing its end as top competitors like Aydan, Tommey, and Teep have lashed out on social media, boycotting events that adopt the ‘luck-based’ structure moving forward. Following another $100,000 Warzone tournament, the world’s biggest names have once again lashed out at the controversial kill-race format. As one of the most prevalent event structures today, timed kill-races allow teams to drop into their own separate lobbies for a specific amount of time. In Toronto Ultra’s latest $100K event, teams had roughly four hours to put up their best performances. Throughout this period, Trios aren’t directly competing with other pros. Instead, everyone is essentially hunting for the ‘easiest’ lobbies with lower kill-death ratios on average. Moments after the competition window closed and winners were announced, many of Warzone’s highest earners and biggest stars lashed out at the format, calling for timed kill-races to be left behind entirely. No more timed kill-race tourneys in Warzone? 👀 So far, these are the players who have agreed to a boycott: @TylerTeeP, @aydan, @Rated_COD, and @Jukeyz. pic.twitter.com/x9MyfcC8n6 — DEXERTO Call of Duty Esports News (@DexertoIntel) June 30, 2021 “$100k ‘who can get the worst lobbies’ tourney,” Aydan tweeted before starting his run on Day 2 of the latest Warzone event. This comment all but kicked off the latest wave of discussions regarding timed kill-race competitions. “Timed kill-races are ALL skill tbh,” he followed up sarcastically once the $100K tournament came to a close. “It’s pretty much whoever can connect to the sh***iest lobbies gets paid $10k+ each.” Just three points separated the top three teams in the latest event, though the winners quickly came under fire; their run through the competition was objectively easier due to the lobbies they were placed in. Hitch, I have NO idea. It’s pretty much whoever can connect to the shittiest lobbies gets paid $10k+ each. — Aydan (@aydan) June 30, 2021 “Timed kill-race tournaments need to be forever-chalked,” BobbyPoff said after finishing in seventh place. “Our easiest lobby was a 1.10 K/D,” he outlined. The winning Trio of Fifakill, WarsZ, and Recrent managed to “pull a Russian host.” This led to their “hardest game” being a lobby where the average K/D was just 1.05. “Their hardest game was easier than our easiest game and they walk away with $11,000. Wow. We get those lobbies we place higher.” More and more Warzone pros continued to fall in line as time went on. Now, there’s a near-unanimous boycott against timed kill-races from the scene’s top competitors. “I won’t be playing anymore kill-races,” TeeP said bluntly on Twitter. “Agreed, I’ll be opting out of them for now too,” Aydan responded. Rated soon followed up: “How about we disregard the money and boycott all invites for timed kill-races?” Here’s a thought How about we disregard the money & boycott all invites that are for TKRs & encourage organizers to run 2v2/customs Everyone knew today’s tourney is a coin flip & most RNG people shouldn’t be condemned because the gods decided today was there day & blessed them — Rhys Price (@Rated_COD) June 30, 2021 With a number of Warzone’s biggest names all standing together against the format, it’ll be a surprise if any upcoming events look to adopt the format. For major tournaments with hefty prize pools, we could see 2v2 kill-races or custom lobbies becoming the norm moving forward instead.

Aydan stunned by Warzone 2 shotgun loadout to dominate Ashika Island meta – Dexerto
Aydan stunned by Warzone 2 shotgun loadout to dominate Ashika Island meta Twitch: AydanAydan was left stunned after discovering just how lethal the new KV Broadside shotgun is in Warzone 2 Season 2, putting together a loadout that could easily mow down enemies across Al Mazrah and Ashika Island. Season 2 of MW2 and Warzone 2 was highly anticipated among players, with delays holding it back to around 4 months after the game initially launched. It brought a bunch of new content to both games, including a ranked mode in Modern Warfare 2 and the brand new Resurgence map, Ashika Island, to Warzone 2. Of the new features that came to the game, one of them was the new KV Broadside shotgun. While shotguns have floated in and out of the meta throughout Warzone’s lifespan, it looks as though they may be ready to firmly root themselves to the top in Season 2. In the Verdansk days, guns like the R9-0 and Streetsweeper caused nightmares for players coming up against them, and Aydan might have found the KV Broadside class to do the same in Warzone 2. Aydan’s KV Broadside in Warzone 2 As you can see in the clip, Aydan’s KV Broadside does some serious damage at any range, made even more impressive considering he built it for ADS and speed, allowing him to fly around the map and melt enemies. Here’s how he decks it out: Barrel: ZLR Sport-8 – Laser: VLK LZR 7mw – Stock: Otrezat Stock – Ammunition: 12 Gauge Explosive – Magazine: 12 Shell Mag – While it’s still early days, this shotgun definitely causes some serious damage on Ashika Island and in Al Mazrah, so expect to see it pop up more and more throughout Season 2 and beyond unless the gun ends up getting nerfed. While the RPK and Fennec have long dominated the meta, and are still top-tier picks, it’s definitely worth trying out the KV Broadside to see how it goes.

Aydan smashes Warzone Solos vs Squads world record with insane run – Dexerto
Aydan smashes Warzone Solos vs Squads world record with insane run Aydan/ActivisonFormer Fortnite star Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad has managed to break the world record for Warzone kills playing as a solo while in a squads match, racking up a pretty impressive total to say the least. [jwplayer RexLZ1JW] With the popularity of Warzone through the roof, it has attracted players from plenty of different genres to test their skills and show that they’ve got what it takes to be amongst the best of the best. The standout stars, typically, have a Call of Duty or battle royale-based background as players like Aydan – who was once ranked amongst the top Fortnite professionals in the globe – have converted over. With such a melting pot of talent dropping into Verdansk, winning streaks are being stretched out, money is being won, and records are being smashed – including those who try to test themselves in a 1v4 scenario. Previously, the Solo vs Squads record had stood at 57 kills, which is an incredibly impressive number to say the least, but Aydan went one step further. Read More: 5 best loadouts in Call of Duty: Warzone – During his November 19 stream, the former Ghost Gaming star found himself on a heater, racking up kill after kill in Warzone. He quickly leveled the record of57 kills and found himself in a tricky 1v3 against a team with a Juggernaut. However, he called upon his incredible battle royale talents to rip through his opponents, solidifying not only the record, but the Warzone victory in one fell swoop. And, it’s safe to say that Aydan was pretty happy with himself too. 🚨 @aydan just hit 60 kills in Solo Quads, breaking the World Record! Aydan slams Warzone’s lack of basic feature as stream snipers run riot – Dexerto
Aydan slams Warzone’s lack of basic feature as stream snipers run riot YouTube: Aydan/ActivisionAydan has hit out at Call of Duty battle royale title Warzone, claiming the game “sucks,” begging for the devs to help fix the stream sniping issue in the game. Throughout August 2021, in the lead-up to the release of Warzone Season 5, we’ve seen a number of players and top streamers leave the game to tackle Apex Legends, with a huge shift in popularity. While the hacking issue is the main driving factor behind this, there are actually plenty of issues with the game itself that makes it harder for players. For streamers, especially, this is exacerbated by the problems they individually face. One key feature that has been lacking from Warzone since launch, and one that many competitors have as standard, is a streamer mode. Streamer mode pretty much does as expected: it’s for streamers to put on and hide their identity or whereabouts to potential stream snipers, whose sole purpose is to follow them around the map and ruin their games. After using a burner account and still being killed by a stream sniper, Aydan tweeted the clip of the sniper getting him, calling it “another reason why Warzone sucks” and calling his opponents “rats.” Stream sniping rats… Another reason why Warzone sucks, NO WORKING STREAMER MODE. https://t.co/0aO11KZgBN — Aydan (@aydan) August 12, 2021 Stream snipers have long been a massive issue for streamers, especially in battle royale titles where it’s relatively easy to track a streamer’s movement, and taking them out completely ruins their game. Some streamers already take precautions to try and avoid snipers, such as longer stream delays or hiding screens on drop, but it’s not possible to get away from them completely, especially for someone as popular as Aydan. We’ve already seen teasers that Warzone could introduce the long-awaited anti-cheat software at some point soon — could a Streamer Mode follow?

Aydan shows off AK-47 Warzone blueprint that dominates in Season 6 – Dexerto
Aydan shows off AK-47 Warzone blueprint that dominates in Season 6 Activision/AydanThe Cold War AK-47 continues to dominate the Warzone meta and Aydan has the perfect loadout for you to use in Season 6. Assault Rifles are some of the most powerful weapons in Warzone, but it’s the CW AK-47 that takes the crown for its high damage. Not only does this reliable Russian rifle come packed with high DPS, but it can also shred through opponents in close to mid-range firefights. This is especially true when you kit out the AK-47 with the best attachments. With the release of the new Void Monster weapon blueprint, Aydan has shown off his beastly AK-47 loadout that he uses to go on high kill count tears through Verdansk. Aydan’s AK-47 Warzone loadout Muzzle: Suppressor – Optic: Microflex LED – Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock – Magazine: 45 Rnds – Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap – Unlike our own AK-47 loadout, Aydan’s build greatly bolsters the AR’s mobility and control. This makes it useful for those that enjoy the hyper-aggressive playstyle of close-range combat. First up, is the Suppressor attachment. Not only does this muzzle conceal your shots, but it also quickens the AK-47’s ADS speed, provides a 20% boost to bullet velocity, and reduces the sprint to fire penalty. Combine this with the added ADS speed from the Serpent Wrap and the mobility increase from the KGB Skeletal Stock, and you have a recipe for success. The Microflex LED is also tailor-made for capitalizing on close-quarter engagements, giving you an excellent view of your surroundings without inhibiting your vision. Lastly, the 45 Rnd mag attachment gives you just enough ammunition to claim back after back kills without the need to constantly reload. Aydan paired this AK-47 loadout with the Swiss K31 to help secure long-range kills. Whether the AK-47 will still remain at the top of the AR meta when Vanguard’s integration comes to Warzone remains to be seen, but for now, this Russian rifle sits comfortably at the top of the meta rankings.

Aydan reveals Warzone 2 return just weeks after taking “step away” – Dexerto
Aydan reveals Warzone 2 return just weeks after taking “step away” YouTube: AydanAydan has announced his return to Warzone 2 for Season 3 and the World Series of Warzone, just days after revealing that he would be taking a step back from the game, leading many to believe he had quit for good. The months since Warzone 2’s launch have been a trying time for players, but for those who relied on the original title as a competitor or content creator, it’s caused them to take a wider look at their careers and question whether remaining on the Call of Duty BR was a good long-term decision. With many top competitors and streamers in the BR pivoting to other titles or expanding their portfolio a little by streaming different games, Aydan was no different, explaining on March 27 that he wanted to take a step away from the game, calling it “stale” and saying he was “super disappointed” with the competitive side of the game. He did mention in the video that he wanted to wait and see what came with Season 3 before putting a nail in the Warzone 2 coffin for good, and after the announcement of the $1.2m World Series of Warzone, it looks like the game is set to become his number one title once again. Aydan returns to Warzone for Season 3 & WSOW In a video posted on April 10, Aydan explained that he had originally only planned to stay away from Warzone 2 until Season 3 came out, so he could see whether they made the right changes to make the game better. He then explained that he would be playing in the World Series of Warzone alongside Adrian and Rhys ‘Rated’ Price. “I’ve made plans to come back,” he said while watching the WSOW announcement video. “I never quit Warzone, I think this is something that people get a little bit confused with the video that I made … All I was doing was taking my time away and waiting for Season 3 and some more competitive stuff to come out before I felt like I wanted to play again.” Timestamp 00:50 He continued: “When I made the decision before, it wasn’t to prove a point. People misunderstand that. I wasn’t being petty or trying to prove a point and quit playing so they would ‘fix the game.’ I genuinely wasn’t having fun with the game… “But with this being announced, I’m definitely going to be hopping back in to Warzone 2, get back to the grind, start practicing customs, all that stuff, because I want to win this bad boy right here.” Aydan even went on to joke about wanting to get revenge on Scump in the SoloYolo portion of the World Series tournament, avenging the lost 1v1 that cost him $100k back in 2021 to the now-retired Call of Duty pro. Needless to say, every top competitor and streamer will be looking to qualify for the World Series of Warzone’s LAN finals in September, but there’s still a lot of qualifier matches to get through until then.

Aydan reveals underrated SMG Warzone loadout to use after buffs – Dexerto
Aydan reveals underrated SMG Warzone loadout to use after buffs Aydan / ActivisionThe Fennec may not be the go-to SMG in Warzone, but Aydan’s loadout proves that this underrated gun is still capable of dishing out great damage. Warzone’s meta constantly shifts with every new update, giving players the chance to experiment with new loadouts and weapon builds. While the likes of the Bullfrog and MAC-10 still dominate the competition, there is another SMG that has been creeping back into contention. The Fennec offers minimal recoil, excellent hip-fire, great mobility, and an insanely fast rate of fire – making it a great pick for close-quarters firefights. In fact, Aydan recently showcased just how lethal the Fennec can be when kitted out with the best attachments. Whether you’re tired of the current meta SMG options or just wish to utilize an underrate gun, then this Fennec loadout will reward you with plenty of kills. Aydan’s Fennec Warzone loadout Barrel: ZLR Sabre – Laser: 5mW Laser – Stock: No Stock – Magazine: 40 Round Drum Mags – Perk: Sleight of Hand – Unlike our own Fennec loadout that focuses on maximizing the SMG’s accuracy and control, Aydan’s is tailored around being as mobile as possible. The 5mW Laser and No Stock attachment increase the Fennec’s movement, ADS, and sprint to fire speed. This enables you to aggressively rush your opponents and outmaneuver slower loadouts. Read More: Aydan unveils best EM2 Warzone loadout – If that wasn’t enough, the added hip-fire accuracy can give you the edge in close-quarter scenarios where every second matters. Keeping in with this theme of speed, Aydan has utilized the Sleight of Hand perk. Not only does this reduce the frustrations that come with getting caught mid reload, but it also allows you to maintain constant pressure. Timestamp of 1:30 Being able to quickly reload the Fennec’s 40 Round Drum Mags is incredibly important, especially since this gun’s fire rate can make missing any shots rather unforgiving. Lastly, the ZLR Sabre barrel suppresses your shots, increases damage range, and aids with recoil control. If you’re a fan of the run and gun playstyle and enjoy rushing your foes, then Aydan’s Fennec is the perfect underrated pick in Season 5.

Aydan reveals ultimate Warzone Season 4 duo tier list with some surprise choices – Dexerto
Aydan reveals ultimate Warzone Season 4 duo tier list with some surprise choices YouTube: Aydan/NRG/100Thieves/ROKKR/MLGAydan has revealed his updated Warzone duos tier list for Season 4, with some surprise selections and premium gas for his peers. Aydan’s tier lists have often stirred a big response from the community, for better or for worse, with both pros and their fans heavily debating their thoughts or making a case for why they should be higher in his tier list. With the launch of Season 4, and the first tournament of the World Series of Warzone out of the way, Aydan has given an updated look at who he believes to be the best duos in the game. Featuring top duos such as Tommey & Almond, HusKerrs & Newbz and more, here’s how he ranked them. For most duos, there was quite a lot of deliberation. Aydan refused to rank himself — though most would agree that he and Rated would comfortably slot into S-Tier, and probably at the top too. For some, such as Tommey & Almond or Swagg & Booya, it was much easier to put them in their S and B tiers respectively. Here’s how each tier turned out: S Tier: SuperEvan & DiazBiffle, Tommey & Almond, ZLaner & Destroy – A Tier: Jukeyz & Fifakill, HusKerrs & Newbz, Blazt & MuTeX, PicNick & Nickool, Mayappo & Otter, JoeWo & Stuwakaki, Scummn & UnRational – B Tier: Breadman & IceManIsaac, Swagg & Booya, TeeP & UnRational, DougIsRaw & Exzachtt, Frozone & Ahtract – C Tier: TeeP & DougIsRaw, Mayappo & BobbyPoff, Pieman & Kalei – Of course, this ranking is just Aydan’s opinion, but he probably has a better insight than most others, considering he is regularly playing against (and beating) them. He does argue that duos like Jukeyz and Fifakill and HusKerrs & Newbz could be moved into S tier, but he wanted to reserve that slot purely for the most elite players based on results, earnings and general gameplay. What do you think of Aydan’s rankings? There are definitely arguments to be made to move different teams up or down, but for the most part, there won’t be much for Warzone fans to complain about.

Aydan reveals “ridiculous” Warzone MG 82 loadout – Dexerto
Aydan reveals “ridiculous” Warzone MG 82 loadout Aydan / ActivisionThe MG 82 has been creeping up the meta rankings in Season 5 and Warzone pro Aydan has the perfect loadout for you to use. While Warzone’s meta continues to be dominated by Assault Rifles and SMGs, there have been times where the game’s bulkier cousins have made an appearance. The latest LMG that continues to make headlines is that of the MG 82. While it may not be as popular as the Stoner 63, this beefy weapon is capable of dishing out some truly devasting damage. In fact, the MG 82’s close to mid-range DPS is through the roof. Combine this with a high rate of fire and huge standard clip size, and you have a weapon that can obliterate entire squads. Aydan recently showcased just how lethal the MG 82 can be when kitted out with the best attachments. Aydan’s MG 82 Warzone loadout Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Barrel: 16.4” Task Force – Optic: Axial Arms 3x – Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip – Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap – Aydan’s MG 82 loadout focuses on maximizing the LMG’s accuracy, damage, range, and control. This makes it a highly versatile pick for those that wish to remain effective in mid-range firefights. Just like most Black Ops Cold War weapons, Aydan has utilized the Agency Suppressor and 16.4” Task Force. Both these attachments increase the MG 82’s effective damage range, bullet velocity, recoil control, and suppress your shots. Minimizing the MG 82’s vertical and horizontal kick is incredibly important, especially if you wish to remain accurate during long-range engagements. Fortunately, the Field Agent Grip grip does the majority of the legwork here. Timestamp of 2:02 While this attachment does reduce your shooting/aim move speed, it eliminates any severe kicking during prolonged firing. Thanks to the reduction in recoil, Aydan has attached the Axial Arms 3x optic. This sight’s 3x magnification enables you to hone in on mid-range targets, giving you the precision needed to land lethal head and body shots. While the Axial Arms 3x can be used in close-range engagements, it’s often best to switch your secondary. Read More: Aydan reveals underrated SMG Warzone loadout – If you do get caught in a close-quarter fight, then the Serpent Wrap will quicken the MG 82’s ADS speed. Not only will this give you a fighting chance outside of mid-range scenarios, it will also enable you to zap onto targets at range. This loadout is so lethal that Aydan believes it will get a nerf in a future update, so make sure you give it a go before Raven takes aim.

Aydan reveals meta Warzone Bren loadout used at $100k Baka WonderLAN – Dexerto
Aydan reveals meta Warzone Bren loadout used at $100k Baka WonderLAN Activision / AydanWith the new Warzone map, there are 40 new weapons that are looking to shake up the meta. Pro player Aydan reveals the Bren loadout that dominated Caldera at the $100k Baka WonderLAN. The Warzone Pacific update brought a new era to the battle royale introducing Vanguard weapons. With players still figuring out which are viable, the Baka Bros WonderLAN gave everyone a good look at what the meta can become. To many surprise one LMG, the Bren shined bright in the spotlight and stole the show on Caldera. Aydan shows Warzone meta Bren loadout As seen in the picture above, Aydan goes for a high range and accuracy loadout build for this meta Bren. Here is a list of the full attachments: Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer – Barrel: Queen’s 705mm Royal – Optic: G16 2.5x – Stock: Queen’s Model 11 BH – Underbarrel: m1941 HandStop – Rear Grip: Leather Grip – Magazine: 6.5 Sakura 40 Round Mags – Ammunition: Lengthened – Perk: Sleight of Hand – Perk2: Fully Loaded – In a YouTube video, Aydan breaks down the pros of using this weapon and mentions the amount of damage the Bren has makes it the best option in Warzone right now. It proved to be really strong at the Baka WonderLAN on December 17. Here, the majority of the 30 pros in attendance were spotted running the Bren as their primary weapon for medium to long-range fights. While the meta is still developing on Caldera, the Bren has quickly emerged as the top gun when it comes to tournaments where millions of dollars are at stake. Baka Champions Tommey and Almond both were among the crowd that opted for this high damage and low recoil LMG. Next time you drop into Warzone definitely give this loadout a spin and see if you can dominated like the pros Aydan, Tommey, and more.

Aydan reveals “insane” Warzone 2 rifle that challenges Lachmann-556 meta – Dexerto
Aydan reveals “insane” Warzone 2 rifle that challenges Lachmann-556 meta ActivisionAydan revealed a TAQ-V loadout that goes toe-to-toe with the Lachmann-556 or any other long-range meta weapon in Warzone 2 Season 4. It started as a close contest for who would become the next king of Warzone 2’s long-range meta. But after almost a month, it’s clear that players prefer using the Lachmann-556 more than any other option. According to WZ Ranked, the Lachmann-556 boasts a pick rate double that of the next similar weapon. But if we have learned anything from the past, being at the top is a blessing and a curse. The ISO 45 and Lachmann-556 are primed for nerfs in the Season 4 Reloaded update. The mid-season update goes live on July 12. With that in mind, Aydan pointed out the TAQ V as a perfect replacement for when that nerf hammer inevitably comes down. What is the best long-range meta weapon in Warzone 2? Warzone Stats Tracker posted Aydan’s “insane meta” TAQ-V loadout. Aydan went for a build with the lowest possible recoil without sacrificing its impressive bullet velocity. The RAAL MG and SO-14 have better TTK speeds, but the TAQ-V has a better recoil pattern than the SO-14 and is more mobile than the RAAL. The TAQ-V separates itself from other battle rifles because it has the best accuracy and recoil in the class. It also helps that the hard-hitting rifle excels in full-auto firing mode while others only perform well in single-fire mode. Best TAQ V loadout in Warzone 2 Season 4 Here is Aydan’s TAQ V loadout with attachment tuning included. Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40 (+0.80, +0.35) – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 (+0.80, +0.40) – Rear Grip: FSS Combat Grip (+1.00, +0.45) – Magazine: 50 Round Drum – Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity (+0.70, +2.61) – For now, The Lachmann still reigns supreme in Warzone 2. However, if that long-awaited nerf ever does come, keep an eye on the TAQ V in Season 4 Reloaded.

Aydan reveals his ultimate Warzone player tier list, and its surprising – Dexerto
Aydan reveals his ultimate Warzone player tier list, and its surprising Aydan/TierMakerAydan is one of the best Warzone players in the world right now, and has made his own tier list of the top Warzone pros — with some surprise names popping up. [jwplayer bjQdhi3F] Warzone has become just about the most competitive battle royale there is right now, with many of the top streamers, content creators and pros from other titles finding themselves navigating Verdansk. Aydan — who tops our list of best Warzone players at the time of writing — has decided to make his own list. Of course, the best way of finding out about new talents or breaking down who the best players really are is by talking to their peers, and as multiple top pros started making their tier lists, Aydan’s is definitely one to check out. Aydan makes Warzone tier list Basing it on tournament placements, earnings, raw skill, and more, Aydan made the S-Tier a very selective group of players and gave his thoughts on why some deserve to be where they are. As Aydan explains, he can’t put everyone in S but seems pretty happy with his overall selections. DiazBiffle, Rated, SuperEvan, Newbz, Tommey, Almond, and HusKerrs make up his final S-tier picks after much deliberation. There was much deliberation over whether HusKerrs should be in S- or A-tier, while his teammate ZLaner ended up holding the top spot in A-tier. Similarly, there were lots of calls for Jukeyz to move up, but with his lack of tournament invites, Aydan couldn’t justify the shift up from A. Other Warzone pros aren’t happy Of course, when making a list like this, there’s bound to be a number of players not content with their final placement, despite the fact it’s just Aydan’s opinion. While there clearly isn’t a lot of real beef between these players, HusKerrs did call Aydan a “clown” over his selections. This clown @aydan really said he was going to make an unbiased list based on recent tournament performance and put us in A-tier when we placed 3rd and 2nd in the last two big tournaments LMAO — HusKerrs (@HusKerrs) February 22, 2021 After Aydan confirmed he put Husk in S-tier, the NRG pro complained it was only “after thinking about it for 15 minutes and below three people that have placed worse than me in tournaments.” Yeah after thinking about it for 15 minutes and below 3 people that have placed worse than me in tournaments. Cmon now little Aydan — HusKerrs (@HusKerrs) February 22, 2021 Similarly, Jukeyz, who many wanted to see in S-tier, had his own thoughts. “If I lived in a bin in America, I’d be in S,” the Scouse star joked. As mentioned, this is really all just different player’s opinions, and later in the day both Rated and Tommey ended up making their own tier lists, all of which looked fairly similar. At the end of the day, these tier lists won’t matter when tournament day arrives, and that’s when the best will really be separated from the rest.

Aydan reveals his best Stoner 63 Warzone loadout – Dexerto
Aydan reveals his best Stoner 63 Warzone loadout Activision/New York SublinersWarzone’s highest earner, Aydan Conrad, has shown fans his new Stoner 63 loadout in the Call of Duty battle royale title. While the Warzone meta is dominated by the likes of the AUG, FFAR and Kar98k ahead of the mid-Season 2 update, the Stoner is definitely a weapon that can do some damage. It’s an LMG that dominates the Black Ops Cold War multiplayer mode, which is incredibly frustrating to play against with its solid rate of fire and high damage stats. If you’re growing bored of the current AUG/FFAR meta in Warzone, the Stoner 63 is one of the weapons you need to consider — and Aydan has you covered. Aydan’s Stoner 63 Warzone class The Stoner 63 is perhaps one of the most underrated weapons in Warzone. With the mid-season update coming, and a number of weapon balancing changes expected, this could result in the gun leaking more heavily into the meta. If you’re wanting to take advantage of that opportunity, or even just try out something new, here’s how Aydan decks out his Stoner to make it dominate in Verdansk: Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Barrel: 18.6” Division – Optic: Axial Arms 3x – Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip – Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap – As Aydan says, there is a bit more recoil on this LMG when shooting at range, so it won’t do a great job of replacing the Kar98k or AUG when taking those distant gunfights. Read More: Warzone star Aydan joins New York Subliners – Perhaps the best thing about the Stoner 63 is its stock 75-round magazine, meaning you won’t need an Ammo attachment. That gives you a bit more freedom over attachments, hence why Aydan opts for both an Underbarrel and Rear Grip to maximize his control of the weapon. So give this one a whirl and see how you like it. Stick an FFAR or Mac 10 in your back pocket and you should be a pretty handy assassin across Verdansk.

Aydan reveals “buffed” Bizon Warzone loadout that is perfect for Rebirth & Caldera – Dexerto
Aydan reveals “buffed” Bizon Warzone loadout that is perfect for Rebirth & Caldera Activision/AydanThe PP19 Bizon has been getting attention from the Warzone community ever since it received a major buff to its damage. In order to get the most out of this SMG, Aydan has created the perfect loadout you can use to maximize its effectiveness. Following the April 13 update, more Warzone players and content creators have been utilizing the Bizon. The latest patch fixed an issue involving incorrect damage stats for the Bizon and since then, the Modern Warfare SMG has been getting a fair amount of attention. While the Bizon may not be as popular as MP40 and the Owen Gun loadouts that dominate Warzone’s best SMG rankings, it can still pack a mean punch. This is especially true if you kit it out with the best attachments. In order to showcase just how strong the Bizon can be in Caldera and Rebirth Island, Aydan has created the perfect loadout that greatly enhances the gun’s viability in Season 2. Aydan’s PP19 Bizon Warzone loadout Attachments Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor – Barrel: 8.7″ Polygonal – Laser: 5mW Laser – Stock: No Stock – Magazine: Sleight of Hand – Unlike Swagg’s Bizon loadout, Aydan has utilized attachments that increase the gun’s effective damage range. Both the Monolithic Suppressor and 8.7″ Polygonal help keep your shots lethal just outside of close-quarter scenarios. While you’re almost always better off switching to your AR during mid-range firefights, these attachments do give the Bizon a little more versatility when it comes to engagements. If your foe happens to sprint out of the gun’s ideal range, then the Muzzle and Barrel can help give you that extra damage needed to eliminate them. Timestamp of 2:29 Next up is 5mW Laser and No Stock attachment, which greatly enhances the Bizon’s overall speed. Whether you’re aggressively rushing down your foes or going for those sneaky flanks, having fantastic mobility options can help you win many a gunfight. As the Bizon has 64 round mags by default, Aydan has opted to utilize the Sleight of Hand Perk. This greatly speeds up the SMG’s reload time, ensuring any downtime between firefights is kept to a minimum. While the Bizon may not be a conventional meta pick in Warzone, Aydan’s Bizon loadout demonstrates how lethal it can be. Make sure you give it a go when you next drop into Caldera or Rebirth Island.

Aydan reveals best Cronen Squall loadout after thermal ban in Warzone 2 ranked – Dexerto
Aydan reveals best Cronen Squall loadout after thermal ban in Warzone 2 ranked New York Subliners/ActivisionAydan and his fellow Warzone 2 pros have been spending some time trying to adapt to a new meta after the thermal sight was banned in ranked, but he thinks he has found the solution. For some time, the Cronen Squall with a thermal sight was the dominant meta weapon in Warzone 2 ranked, becoming a real source of frustration for players as the gun made rotating nearly impossible, especially as smoke grenades are so pivotal to traversing Al Mazrah in the game. On May 24, after many requests from players, Warzone 2 ranked devs Treyarch finally banned thermal scopes from ranked, as well as making a number of other restrictions. Since then, the meta has shifted slightly, and while the Cronen Squall battle rifle is still dominant, Aydan has revealed his new class to grind through the ranks in Al Mazrah. Aydan Cronen Squall loadout While the actual build of the gun itself isn’t much different, players were tasked with finding the best optic to use in lieu of the thermal sights. Aydan has gone simple with his, choosing the Cronen Mini Pro, a very popular pick in casual Warzone 2 games and prior to the thermal meta. His full build is: Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40 – Barrel: HR6.8 Barrel – Optic: Cronen Mini Pro – Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56 – Magazine: 50-Round Mag – If you’re looking to emulate Aydan’s gameplay in Warzone 2, you’ll have to put in some serious hours — but using his preferred loadouts is a good step in the right direction.

Aydan reveals his best AUG Warzone loadout after Suppressor nerfs – Dexerto
Aydan reveals his best AUG Warzone loadout after Suppressor nerfs Activision/YouTube: AydanTop Warzone streamer Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad has revealed his ideal AUG class in Warzone, after suppressor nerfs made loadouts change drastically in the Call of Duty battle royale. The Agency Suppressor was previously a crutch attachment that was almost compulsory on Cold War weapons, and while Raven have suggested they will be looking to revert the nerf and fix any issues, it’s hard to tell exactly how that will work going forward. In fact, since losing the Agency Suppressor, a lot of players are reporting that the weapons are actually better, and this does beg the question whether it’s worth sacrificing stealth. So, with the AUG becoming a much more popular weapon in the meta, Aydan has gone through his new-look tactical rifle class, and it absolutely shreds. Aydan’s best AUG class in Warzone If you’re unfamiliar with the AUG, it’s a three-round burst tactical rifle from Black Ops Cold War, similar to the M16. It has been a seriously powerful weapon in BOCW multiplayer and is clearly ready to make waves in Verdansk now, too. So, you’ll want to get leveling up your AUG to let you compete with the very best in Warzone. Here’s how Aydan sets his up: Muzzle: SOCOM Eliminator – Barrel: 18.2” Strike Team – Optic: Axial Arms 3x – Underbarrel: Field Agent Foregrip – Ammunition: 45 Rnd Drum – With the loss of the suppressor attachments, you can expect to see a lot more variations of these weapons while traversing Verdansk or Rebirth Island now. That said, as one of the highest earning Warzone players in the world, it’s definitely worth at least trying the classes set up by Aydan — you might just find your favorite gun. If this doesn’t quite take your fancy, feel free to try out our best AUG loadout and see how it feels.

Aydan pulls off ridiculous 200iQ Warzone play to get 90 kill trios game – Dexerto
Aydan pulls off ridiculous 200iQ Warzone play to get 90 kill trios game Twitch: Aydan / ActivisionWarzone streamer Aydan is widely regarded as one of the very best talents in the game, currently the holder of two world records, and with plays like these, it’s no surprise why. In order to get a high-kill game in Warzone, you need a few things. First, you’ll need to be a talented slayer, and the same for your teammates if you’re playing in a squad. Next, you’ll need a good start, landing at a busy place and mowing down teams at a high-rate consistently. But, lastly, you need a lot of opponents to respawn – therefore increasing the total number of killable opponents. If you’re as good as Aydan, you will take every possible advantage – even donating money to an enemy team to encourage them to respawn their dead teammates. Aydan helps enemy respawn teammate On his March 2 stream, with only one opposing team left, Aydan’s squad, featuring Rated and SuperEvan, was just short of the 90 kill mark they were going for. Mathematically, they couldn’t reach it with only 2 opponents left. But, Aydan had other ideas. He quickly pushed the final two enemies, eliminating one fully. Then, instead of cleaning up the final enemy and winning the game, the streamer dropped his entire stack of cash and ran – enough for the enemy to buy back their recently eliminated teammate. With a bus station just in reach, the enemy did exactly what Aydan counted on. Just as everything went to plan, the team picked off the final two opponents, wrapping up their 90 kill game in the process. Aydan clocked 29, while Rated and SuperEvan managed 33 and 28 kills respectively. Read More: Aydan reveals his best AUG Warzone loadout – Although it’s not a world record (the current record for trios stands at a ridiculous 129 kills by dizi, xDaltt, and DonLucky), a 90 kill game is better than the majority of players will ever achieve. We’re not recommending players start using this trick all the time, as unless you’re as good as Aydan, and have teammates as good as Rated and Evan, this risky strategy could easily backfire. But it shows the ingenuity top players are using now in pursuit of higher and higher kills.

Aydan promises to get Scump tattoo if he wins World Series of Warzone again – Dexerto
Aydan promises to get Scump tattoo if he wins World Series of Warzone again ActivisionThe ongoing debate between Warzone and Call of Duty pros may finally end, as Aydan promised to get a Scump tattoo if he wins the World Series of Warzone again. Warzone and CoD multiplayer are different in gameplay and playstyle, yet the CDL off-season sparked a debate between both sets of pros over who is more talented. A series of 1v1’s on CoD Vanguard painted a much different picture, proving that Warzone skills may be transferable to the CDL. Warzone star Biffle beat Boston Breach’s Methodz and Shotzzy, and Aydan defeated Seattle Surge’s Sib. Now it’s the CDL’s turn to enact revenge and prove their skill on Warzone. We already got a taste of the crossover in 2021 when Scump won the $100,000 Solo YOLO World Series of Warzone match. Scump returns to the World Series of Warzone in 2022, competing alongside Methodz and TimTheTatman in the Trios tournament as well as defending his crown in the Solo YOLO, and Aydan made a comical friendly wager if the CoD legend repeats as champion. Aydan promises to get a Scump tattoo if he wins WSOW During a stream, Aydan said, “If Scump wins, I will literally get a tattoo that says Scump is the best Warzone player.” Scump responded, “if we win the trio event, I will literally never touch CoD again.” Aydan doubled down on his tattoo wager and claimed, “If Scump wins WSOW tomorrow, I will get a tattoo that says “Scump is my daddy.” Scump asked if that applied to Solos or Trios, and Aydan responded, “either.” Scump admitted to not playing Caldera in the past two months but did not back down from making his own tattoo wager. The World Series of Warzone NA Finals kicks off on Wednesday, September 7, at 1 PM PT. Several other former and current CDL pros are throwing their name in the hat for a chance at $300,000, including Apathy, Slacked, Rated, Censor, Nero, and Tommey. After a less than conclusive performance in Vanguard, the CDL pros have a lot to prove in Warzone’s biggest tournament of the year.

Aydan picks the best Warzone duos partners – Dexerto
Aydan picks the best Warzone duos partners Activision/New York SublinersNew York Subliners content creator and Warzone’s highest earner Aydan has picked out his top 8 “sweatiest” duos in Warzone, and it makes for a pretty interesting list. With the ever-evolving Warzone meta, and a huge host of high-level tournaments being played every week, many fans will have their own ideas of who the best Warzone players are. Among the highest earners are the likes of Aydan, Jordan ‘HusKerrs’ Thomas and Rhys ‘Rated’ Price, and when picking out his top Warzone duos, they all feature. In his hypothetical 2v2 tournament, there are some lesser-known duos, and some glaring omissions too that fans are up in arms about. While Warzone tournaments regularly have different types of formats and always keep things fresh, they often end up being played in duos, whether it’s timed kill races or loading into Quads against their opponents. Tweeting out to his followers on May 11, Aydan asked for his fans’ thoughts, asking who they would pick “to make the sweatiest 2v2 tournament of all time,” providing his own choices too. His list was: Aydan & Rated – DiazBiffle & SuperEvan – Tommey & Almond – Jukeyz & Fifakill – HusKerrs & Newbz – Mayappo & Otter – Blazt & MuTeX – ZLaner & Destroy – If you had a build an 8 team bracket to make the sweatiest 2v2 tournament of all time, who are you picking? My bracket: Biffle & Evan AydaN & Rated Tommey & Almond Jukeyz & Fifa HusKeRs & Newbz Mayappo & Otter Blazt & MuTeX ZLaner & DestroyThoughts and opinions? — Aydan (@aydan) May 11, 2021 Obviously, some of these selections are a given. Names like Mayappo & Otter are less well-known than some of the others who are top streamers in their own right. One duo that many believe should be included is that of FaZe Clan’s Swagg and Booya. While they are both incredible Warzone players, Aydan argues that they regularly get knocked out early in regular 2v2 tournaments. Its not that they don’t win, but they are usually out in round 1 or round 2. — Aydan (@aydan) May 11, 2021 Some names on the list are a guarantee for most fans picking out their best duos, but everyone will have opinions over one or two teams in there. Do you think there are any duos that deserve to be on this list, or even a team that should be taken out? Let us know by tweeting us at @DexertoIntel!

Aydan outlines changes Warzone 2 desperately needs to bring him back – Dexerto
Aydan outlines changes Warzone 2 desperately needs to bring him back NYSL/ActivisionStreaming star Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad has revealed the things he wants Warzone 2 to implement for him to make a return to the battle royale after he finally quit. As frustrations have grown around some of the problems plaguing Warzone 2, several content creators have taken a step back from the game. Some are still playing it, but dedicating less time to it than before, while others have completely wiped their hands of the battle royale. Former Fortnite star Aydan falls into the latter of those, as he has completely stepped away from Warzone 2 in favor of Minecraft, Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer sessions, and even going back to the 2009 version of MW2. Given that his roots are in battle royale games, there are plenty of fans who want to see him back in Al-Mazrah. Well, as that isn’t likely to happen anytime soon, he has laid out a few things he wants to see change. Aydan reveals Warzone 2 wishlist for him to return to battle royale The NYSL content creator originally revealed his decision to quit via Twitter, but went more in-depth on things in his April 4 YouTube video, which included his wishlist for changes. “One, Ranked play. I think Ranked play is huge for this type of game. I would love to have a Ranked system similar to Apex,” Aydan started, noting that is coming in Season 3 but he doubts that will totally reinvigorate his love for the game. “I want a ban list, I want the time-to-kill to be higher, movement to be increased. I want the game to be in a good spot.” Aydan also noted that he wants a number of features that had previously been in Warzone but were removed in Warzone 2 to return. These include streamer mode, deployable buy stations, more movement systems like ziplines, and bunny hopping. Timestamp of 1:25 Additionally, he also wants the devs to offer more interesting and colorful bundles in the item shop, taking it back to what they had in the original Warzone. It remains to be seen if they’ll start ticking these big requests off to make Aydan come back full-time, but for now, he’s got plenty of other options out there.

Aydan overtakes HusKerrs as Warzone’s highest earner – Dexerto
Aydan overtakes HusKerrs as Warzone’s highest earner Twitter, @Aydan / Twitter, @HusKerrs / Activision / Pexels, John GuccioneAfter months of hunting, Aydan has officially dethroned HusKerrs as the highest earner in Call of Duty: Warzone by surpassing $140,000 earned in the battle royale. Back in October 2020, Jordan ‘HusKerrs’ Thomas became the very first Warzone player to crack $100K in earnings following big finishes in Vikkstar’s Warzone Showdown and Twitch Rivals. With $103K, he sat at the top with a comfortable lead over everyone else, including Aydan — whose $64K put him in second place. At the time, three other players had earned over $60K and the difference between HusKerrs and Aydan was double the difference between Aydan and the 10th-highest earner. But, in the five months since then, the earnings race narrowed down to just the top two. Now, after months spent dominating every meta and continuing to change duos, Aydan has closed the gap and officially overtaken what seemed like an insurmountable lead. Having won the $12K Mina Mendes 2v2 tournament with Rhys ‘Rated’ Price, a new top earner in Warzone has been crowned. Failing to lose a single match on the day, Aydan and Rated secured a second-place finish at the worst and it became evident that the top-earner position would change hands. Evidently surprised, the former Fortnite pro explained to his stream just how unlikely he once thought that would be. “Dude, I can’t believe we’re No. 1 earned. Holy s**t. Man,I didn’t think I’d ever be here to be honest, because HusKerrs was above me by f**king .” After stints dominating tournaments while paired up with Zach ‘Zlaner’ Lane and Charlie ‘MuTeX’ Saouma, Aydan found an even-more cohesive partner in Rated. A former Call of Duty League pro, Rated’s CoD intelligence, experience, and composure have proven to be a perfect balance to Aydan’s cracked demon energy. $12,000k Mina Mendes 2v2 #CHAMPS w/ @Rated_COD ($3,587 each) That is 4 major 2v2 wins in a row with my duo! Also, this makes me as the #1 most earned Warzone player in the world. LETS FUCKING GOOOOOO! Plenty of tournies coming up so lets keep the pace up! — Aydan (@aydan) March 15, 2021 Since the start of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 2, the new duo has won practically every single 2v2 tournament — a format that most players prefer since it ensures equal lobbies. Now, Aydan holds the top spot and HusKerrs moves down to second, with Rated dangerously inching toward taking the second-place spot. With Envy’s $30K Jack Link’s Warzone Invitational taking place on March 16, the earnings list may continue to shake up at a weekly pace.

Aydan, NICKMERCS, more slam rivals’ “sad” Warzone tournament tactics – Dexerto
Aydan, NICKMERCS, more slam rivals’ “sad” Warzone tournament tactics Infinity Ward / Twitter: NICKMERCS / Ghost Gaming[jwplayer WGyDcVLl]While there’s seemingly a new Warzone tournament announced every week, the top competitors have lashed out at a “sad” tactic that gets around Kill-Death Ratio (K/D) caps. Given the immense popularity of the Call of Duty battle royale, there are new tournaments popping up all the time. From major competitions that run through multiple weeks, to one-off events with insane prize pools, there’s always something for Warzone players to grind towards. The free-to-play title has been available for almost seven months now and many of the biggest events promote one common feature – K/D caps. While the format and structure of each event can differ wildly, K/D caps are almost a given across the board. They aim to keep an even playing field, rather than having a handful of the best players teaming up and dominating. However, certain members of the Warzone community have figured out a cheeky workaround, and are intentionally dropping their average K/D in order to form the ultimate squads for the biggest tournaments. It didn’t take long for a number of the top pros to put them on blast. “I’ve noticed so many people, even bigger content creator’s K/Ds have dropped substantially,” Aydan tweeted on October 4 to kick-start the conversation. I’ve noticed so many people, even bigger content creator’s K/Ds have dropped SUBSTANTIALLY. Kinda sad people are doing this just to get better teammates for K/D cap tournaments. — Aydan (@aydan) October 4, 2020 From Call of Duty veterans to popular personalities, Warzone competitions often feature the biggest names out there. Apparently, a good chunk from both fields have been going out of their way to drop their stats. “Kinda sad people are doing this just to get better teammates for K/D cap tournaments,” he added. With a lower K/D, there’s a far better chance of getting picked up by those with higher K/Ds to smash through any given event. “Buncha lil rats,” NICKMERCS chimed in. “Do anything for some cheese!” Buncha lil rats. Do anything for some cheese! Stay focused tho big A, keep slayin’ — FaZe Nickmercs (@NICKMERCS) October 4, 2020 There’s no telling who exactly Aydan was focusing on with his original statement, but given how often he competes, there’s a good chance he’s run into this issue first hand. “I get what K/D caps are supposed to do, but all it did was favor people who solo squad and wager regularly,” TeePee responded. “Doesn’t work well for wz tournaments. People will either finesse the system or suffer for having a 5+ K/D.” I get what kd caps are supposed to do, but all it did was favor people who solo squad and wager regularly. Doesn’t work well for wz tournaments imo — Tyler Polchow (@TylerTeeP) October 4, 2020 Some tried to point out skill-based matchmaking as the cause of this K/D decline. However, Aydan soon shut down that argument. “I’ve been seeing people drop like 0.4+ K/D. SBMM doesn’t hit that hard.” Many of the biggest Warzone tournaments around the world utilized K/D caps to this day. Though perhaps the rule might soon be scrapped if enough players are gaming the system to intentionally lower their stats.

Aydan left embarrassed after hilarious Warzone aim assist mistake – Dexerto
Aydan left embarrassed after hilarious Warzone aim assist mistake YouTube: Aydan/ActivisionCall of Duty superstar Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad is known for his impossibly precise aiming but this Warzone blunder might send him back to the training grounds. When the topic of conversations turns to Warzone’s best players, it is impossible to not mention the feats of Aydan. The former Fortnite pro has become one of the richest Warzone players in the world and regularly destroys lobbies with ease while using non-meta weapons. He is constantly mentioned as, perhaps, the best controller player of all-time given his feats in two different battle royales. However, as good as he is, sometimes he makes slip-ups like the rest of us that make him seem pretty mortal. Aydan needs an assist Hunting down his rivals, with a meaty 10 kills under his belt during his October 8 stream, Aydan’s game was set up for him to take home yet another easy dub with a high kill game. Though, he decided to ditch the help of aim assist and just take players down without a helping hand. Despite being aware of his enemy and landing the first few shots, Aydan’s aim couldn’t stay true as he was mowed down with ease. “Put that back on,” he quickly said as he hilariously scurried to return to the comfort of aim-assist. “Yep…Yep,” he continued, clearly hiding a bit of embarrassment behind his muted emotions. While this brief slip-up in his impressive career won’t phase him anytime soon, perhaps Aydan will set some time aside to hone his unassisted aiming skill before trying that one again.

Aydan & IceManIsaac claim Warzone is doomed thanks to “pathetic” updates – Dexerto
Aydan & IceManIsaac claim Warzone is doomed thanks to “pathetic” updates Aydan / Activision / IceManIsaacWarzone creator IceManIsaac has criticized the game for its “pathetic” lack of meaningful updates, arguing that it’s making the “same mistakes” as Fortnite – and Aydan agrees. The hit Call of Duty battle royale title Warzone is one of the most popular multiplayer games of all time, regularly appearing at the top of Twitch and drawing everyone from casual to hardcore players in with its free-to-play action. But over the last few months, the game has been plagued by cheaters and hacking issues, and many top stars have begun speaking out about their concerns with the game. Some have even made the jump to other titles like Apex Legends. NRG’s IceManIsaac shared his own thoughts about Warzone in a series of tweets on August 8, arguing that not enough has changed over the past year-and-a-half and that cheating isn’t the game’s only problem. “Warzone has been out for 513 days and we still have the same map, no streamer mode, no reconnect feature, no competitive, and the same broken mechanics since day one,” he wrote. “Stop acting like lack of an anti-cheat is the only thing holding this game back. These are basic features and quality of life updates. It’s pathetic coming from a AAA studio. Zero communication on top of everything.” It’s either gross incompetence or a deliberate “”content drip”” to stall until BF2042/Halo arrive. Once the competition arrives they’ll pick up the pace, but by then the masses are committed to leaving. Fortnite and Apex made the same mistake and Warzone headed down the same path. — Isaac (@IceManIsaac) August 9, 2021 Isaac went on to share his thoughts about the lack of long-demanded features like streamer mode and new maps, suggesting that Warzone devs are doing a “content drip” until Battlefield 2042 and Halo Infinite are released. Read More: Everything coming in Warzone Season 5 – “Once the competition arrives they’ll pick up the pace,” he wrote, “but by then the masses are committed to leaving. Fortnite and Apex made the same mistake and Warzone [is] headed down the same path.” With many players already jumping ship from Warzone, Isaac’s not alone in his predictions about the fate of the battle royale. Warzone superstar Aydan showed his agreement with a simple “+1 brotha” tweet in response. Many popular streamers and content creators have weighed in on the Warzone debate now. While some believe the game is going to die off, others have a different opinion. JGOD recently stated that Warzone is “not even close to dead” but revealed that he wishes it was, as there might be “more urgency from Activision” to fix the problems that many players have complained about.

Aydan hits back at Warzone 2 hacker accusations: “They need to get better” – Dexerto
Aydan hits back at Warzone 2 hacker accusations: “They need to get better” NYSL/ActivisionAydan defended himself against cheating accusations in Warzone 2 Ranked Play, providing evidence to clear his name. Accumulating over $400,000 in his career, Aydan has established himself as one of the fiercest competitors in Warzone history. Despite becoming the second-highest-earning Warzone player, his passion slightly fizzed away while playing the battle royale sequel. In March, Aydan announced he was stepping away from creating WZ2 content and competing. He attributed his decision to the game failing to provide an enjoyable or rewarding experience. Everything changed just a few weeks later when Activision announced the $1.2m World Series of Warzone. Aydan returned to the scene, but it hasn’t come without lingering frustrations. Warzone 2 cheating accusations shut down by Aydan MW2 and WZ2 introduced a new reporting system, so players can take matters into their own hands when dealing with hackers and toxic users. However, community members have bashed the system for incorrectly banning players. CDL pros have also been falsely banned, preventing them from playing Ranked Play matches. Accusing others of cheating is nothing new in the COD community, and pro players know how to defend themselves. During a Warzone 2 Ranked Play match, Aydan revived a teammate and then immediately turned and shredded an enemy on a roof. The opponent accused the battle royale expert of cheating, forcing Aydan to explain how he pulled off the highlight play. In the clip, Aydan clearly says he hears the enemy climbing the ladder. He faced his body toward the opposite side of the roof, so it would be easier to engage in a gunfight after completing the revive animation. “People watch too many hacker hunters,” Aydan claimed. “They just need to get better and worry about themselves.” Cheating accusations will most likely rear their ugly head again during the WSOW Stage 1 Qualifiers, which has still yet to receive a date after being delayed.

Aydan highlights biggest Modern Warfare 2 beta issues to be fixed before release – Dexerto
Aydan highlights biggest Modern Warfare 2 beta issues to be fixed before release AydanPopular Warzone streamer Aydan has outlined his current issues with Modern Warfare 2 and the things that need to be fixed before the game’s release date. The Modern Warfare 2 open beta is in full swing, giving CoD fans the chance to delve into the intense firefights and adrenaline-fueled action. So far, streamers have been largely positive of the gameplay and Warzone 2 map, but there have also been a number of issues that have cropped up. While Modern Warfare 2 is still in beta and a number of weeks away from launch, CoD content creator Aydan has outlined a number of problems that need to be addressed. Whether the latest iteration in the Modern Warfare saga has what it takes to become one of the best CoD games of all time, remains to be seen, but these changes will no doubt help. Aydan on Modern Warfare 2 issues “I’m not saying the game is bad, but it definitely needs a bit of tuning,” said Aydan. “The time to kill is quick, and the gun and movement mechanics are clunky. “I feel like all the gunfights end up being like, who aims in first and it’s just done.” While Modern Warfare 2019 greatly relied on pre-aiming and gun placement, the added mobility from slide canceling enabled players to win fights on movement alone. However, the developers have removed this technique from the game, which has brought a more methodical approach to combat. “I don’t know if you’re pre-aiming, no shot – and the movement’s so clunky you can’t really finesse at all. Then some of the guns are just wonky, they’re like just f*cking single fires and weird stuff. All the ironsights are the same, these are just little things, but the more I’ve been playing [MW2], the more I just feel it’s alright right now.” The streamer also noted that because of the lack of movement options, the gameplay often devolves into a camp fest with very little movement. “The game’s just very campy right now and I think that the game needs to have more fluidity,” said Aydan. Aydan was also keen to highlight that Modern Warfare 2 was still in its beta phase, so hopefully, a lot of the streamer’s grievances with the current build can be adjusted before release.

Aydan hates Warzone’s new Caldera map so much he might actually quit the game – Dexerto
Aydan hates Warzone’s new Caldera map so much he might actually quit the game Twitch: Aydan / Raven SoftwarePopular Call of Duty streamer and top Warzone earner Aydan Conrad has revealed he’s considering “moving on” from the game he’s made more than $330,000 from after a terrible first day on the battle royale’s new Pacific map. Two years after release, Warzone has finally traded Modern Warfare’s Verdansk battleground for the bright shores of tropical Caldera, the battle royale’s second-ever map. The island map went live in CoD Vanguard’s latest update, shipped live on December 8. With the Pacific swap-over came a host of WW2 weapons and more events, perks, and vehicles — including 1940s planes — in what Raven Software billed as the game’s next era. Instead, fans have been quitting in droves on day one. Warzone star Aydan may be among those leaving too; the Twitch streamer admitted as much on launch day, after not enjoying “even a second” of the map. Like thousands of other Call of Duty fans, Aydan was champing at the bit to try Vanguard’s new Warzone map, Caldera, after months of hype. And, like many fans, his experience quickly turned sour. “Not a fan of the Caldera map,” he admitted. “I feel like I’m just running up hills and rocks and just die to people sitting on top of them, every death. I don’t care about being at the top [of Warzone’s competitive scene] if I’m not having fun bro. “I’m gonna give it more time, obviously,” the battle royale streamer continued. “But if I’m not enjoying the game anymore I’m going to move on.” Not a fan of the Caldera map so far. I feel like I’m just running up hills and rocks and just die to people sitting on top of them every single death. — Aydan (@aydan) December 8, 2021 It’s a shock suggestion from Aydan, especially considering the star New York Subliners streamer’s place atop the Warzone professional scene. “I had to hop off Caldera because I just wasn’t having fun. I feel like the only thing Caldera has over Verdansk is how pretty the map looks. It could be because I’m sick and just crabby. I just can’t see myself playing Warzone every day anymore though. “I’m really sad,” he added, before revealing he might even swap back to Fortnite after the Epic Games battle royale’s “fire” Chapter 3 update hit servers. Man, I’m really sad. 😔 Had to hop off Caldera because I just wasn’t having fun. I feel like the only thing Caldera has over Verdabsk is how pretty the map looks. It could be because I’m sick and I’m just crabby. I just can’t see myself playing that game every day though 😐 — Aydan (@aydan) December 8, 2021 Aydan has yet to pull the trigger on any plans to quit Warzone, of course. Even suggesting he might, however, is a major shock for CoD players all the same. The Subliners star has risen to lofty heights playing Warzone since 2020. Conrad has raked in more than $331,890 in earnings. He originally jumped ship from Fortnite when CoD’s battle royale debuted, teaming with MuTeX and ZLaner before linking up with Rated more recently. Only time will tell if the star’s position on Caldera will actually change, though he did say he wants to “give it another go with a positive mentality” before he decides.

Aydan gets big payday from GameBattles just before they shut down for good – Dexerto
Aydan gets big payday from GameBattles just before they shut down for good Twitch: AydanGameBattles is shutting down or good on January 15, 2024, but before it goes away, Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad wants to make sure he gets his prize money. GameBattles served as one of Call of Duty‘s premiere tournament providers, giving players opportunities to play in ladders, smaller tournaments, and much more. It eventually joined the Activision family and would serve as the host for many open circuit events for CoD’s Tier 2 scene along with Overwatch. However, that all changed when Activision announced the end of GameBattles in November 2023, as the developer continued to make cuts to its esports division. The final day of operation would be January 15. With the final day upon us, NYSL content creator Aydan chimed in to share one last hurrah from his time on the site. NYSL Aydan gets big payday from GameBattles Before he began competing in Fortnite, Aydan used to play in GameBattle tournaments, and he did quite well for himself. With the shutdown approaching, the NYSL content creator briefly reflected on his time with the platform, where he wondered if he’d ever see the $27,000 USD prize claims he hadn’t claimed yet. The replies flooded in with support, telling him he had until January 31 to claim the prize money and if he sent in a support ticket, he’d be all set. Of course, the story ends rather positively, as he later followed up his tweet with a PayPal invoice from Major League Gaming, with all the prize money he earned. Just as Aydan said in his tweet: “It’s never chalked.”

Aydan explains how Ghost can be reworked to stop Warzone campers – Dexerto
Aydan explains how Ghost can be reworked to stop Warzone campers Dexerto / Infinity WardFormer Fortnite pro and current Warzone star, Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad, believes that the Ghost perk in Warzone should be tweaked to dissuade camping in the popular Call of Duty battle royale. Aydan is no stranger to BR titles, given all the success he’s achieved in Fortnite and Warzone. He’s also very familiar with CoD titles, given his history competing in ‘GBs’ since Black Ops 2. Coupling those perspectives, he believes that Warzone would be better if its Ghost perk was tuned in line with how the perk functions in Black Ops Cold War. As it stands, Ghost grants an impervious cloak of map invisibility to its bearer in Modern Warfare and Warzone. A necessary perk built into every second loadout across Verdansk, it guarantees that players cannot be detected by Heartbeat Sensors or UAVs. Dissimilarly, Black Ops Cold War’s Ghost is akin to earlier titles’, in which it grants the same mini-map immunities — but only when the player is moving. Therefore, if a camper has Ghost equipped, they will be detectable. As mentioned in the CharlieIntel Podcast, Aydan thinks this version should be integrated into Warzone. (For mobile users, segment begins at 28:10) “I really like how [BOCW] has Ghost: it only works if you’re moving,” he said. “So if you’re camping in a corner, Ghost won’t work. I think that might be a great addition.” While discussing his feelings toward Black Ops Cold War in comparison to Modern Warfare and Warzone, Aydan touched on his excitement about possible integration between the different titles. While BOCW and MW will be kept separate, Activision have already confirmed that both games will enjoy some overlap in Warzone. One of the more interesting opportunities this provides is the chance to rework Ghost, which is exactly what the streamer was alluding to. While aware that he does have biases as a “bot racer and a PUB slayer,” Aydan elaborated that “it’s just kind of annoying when someone’s just sitting there with Ghost and you can’t detect them at all.” As such, he argues that the anti-camping adjustment “would be a great integration to add to Ghost.” Given how many CoD enthusiasts complain about campers, either in multiplayer or Warzone, one has to imagine that there could be some serious support for this tweak to the game’s most popular perk.

Aydan drops 48 kills with new Warzone M60 class loadout that’s actually deadly – Dexerto
Aydan drops 48 kills with new Warzone M60 class loadout that’s actually deadly Andbox / ActivisionThe M60 is everyone’s least favorite ground loot in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3, but Aydan fears no man and no gun. The Subliners streamer built an M60 class with a MAC-10 loadout class and managed to drop…48 kills. If you’ve picked up the M60 off of Verdansk’s dusty floors, you probably got a trip to the Gulag and a chance to reflect on just how frustrating the gun is. Its firing rate, no matter the rarity, feels like a tricycle on a highway. Its iron sight, a blocky little rectangle, feels like shooting with a blindfold on. But Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad is a New York Subliners streamer and Warzone’s highest earner for a reason. The best of the best challenged himself to play with the worst of the worst and somehow, someway, he notched a wild 48 kills. In a time when Warzone’s meta is as flexible as ever, this M60 class is the perfect opportunity to twist up your gameplay even more — especially if you pair it with a high-mobility SMG. Aydan’s “bad boy” M60 Warzone class loadout Recoil control, recoil control, recoil control. Aydan’s class is made to beam from any range, while the Airborne Elastic Wrap offers boosts to ADS time. Here’s how the “bad boy” works: Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Barrel: 22.8” Match Grade – Optic: SUSAT Multizoom – Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip – Rear Grip: Airborne Elastic Wrap – For your secondary, it’s got to be a high-mobility SMG — emphasis on the high mobility. Aydan literally paired his M60 with as fast a submachine gun as possible: a custom MAC-10 that gave up a Muzzle for the Tiger Team Spotlight to maximize movement. Aydan’s thought process behind testing out the M60 was a simple one: “What’s a ground loot gun that people just think sucks…badly? And I thought ‘we should use the M60’ … when you pick it up, ground loot, it’s horrible.” But then, as you can see in the video above, the M60 low-key slaps at range. While a fast-paced, aggressive player like Aydan will always get more kills with their secondary than their primary, he was still knocking people with ease using the M60. Overall, the streamer doesn’t believe the LMG deserves to overtake the CR-56 AMAX or RAM-7 in the primary meta, “but it’s really fun and it’s viable.” So if you want to surprise your teammates and enjoy the most frustrated death comms ever, you know exactly which “horrible” gun to use.

Aydan dominates with new FARA Warzone loadout after buff – Dexerto
Aydan dominates with new FARA Warzone loadout after buff Activision/YouTube: AydanAfter some weapon balancing in the mid-Season 3 Reloaded update, the FARA 83 assault rifle received a decent buff for long-range gunfights, and New York Subliners streamer and highest-earning Warzone player Aydan has given it a runout. The weapon meta in Warzone is constantly evolving, but Season 3 has seen it really open up, with many more viable guns than there were previously as devs Raven really bring things in line with one another. So, in the May 27 update, the ever-popular CR-56 AMAX received a slight nerf while a couple of changes were applied to the FARA to make it a better long-range option. On top of that, the Black Ops Cold War optic reticles were changed slightly, hoping to make them more comparable to the sturdier Modern Warfare weapons. Aydan’s FARA 83 Warzone class We’ve seen a lot of players trying out the FARA since it was buffed, including Tfue who was clearly a big fan, testing its viability among the top Warzone ARs. Aydan drops a 39 kill gameplay with the FARA while testing it out, and it really looks like a great alternative to the AMAX if you’re looking to switch things up. Here are the attachments he uses to get the most out of the FARA: Attachments Muzzle: GRU Suppressor – Barrel: 19.5” Liberator – Optic: Axial Arms 3x – Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip – Ammunition: Spetsnaz 60 Rnd – As well as the FARA, Aydan was running the Cold War MP5 in this gameplay. While not the most popular SMG, it can still pack a punch if you’re able to get a handle on the recoil. The AMAX nerf is proving over time to not be as impactful as some were concerned it would be, but with how wide open the meta is right now, it shouldn’t be too much of an issue. The AMAX is still great, but with several viable ARs available, Season 4 looks set to be a good one.

Aydan demands fix for $20 ‘unusable’ Warzone Operator skin – Dexerto
Aydan demands fix for $20 ‘unusable’ Warzone Operator skin Activision / AydanWarzone pro Aydan ripped Raven Software after he bought a $20 Operator skin that was actually unusable once he loaded into a game. Pacific Season 2 has brought loads of new content to the game. From a 100-tier battle pass to new Attack on Titan bundles, there is plenty to pick from. When Activision releases new Operator skins throughout a season, some release with immediate acclaim while others can get flamed on for being broken. Well, Twitch star Aydan found a few glaring issues with the game’s latest bundle and wasted no time in letting the devs know about it. Aydan slams Warzone devs for broken Operator skin Aydan hopped on for a gaming session and decided to hit up the store for its new wares. After seeing the Lethal Luxury tracer pack, he couldn’t resist buying it but you’ll quickly see why he regretted it. Hey, I paid like $20 for this bundle and the skin is not usable. Please fix! @RavenSoftware pic.twitter.com/RQ3WNJpXx0 — Aydan (@aydan) March 5, 2022 In a clip from a March 4 stream, Aydan loaded into his first game using the Astrakhan skin but realized it was impossible to see anything. His field of view became completely blocked by the white cape that the character was wearing. You can hear his frustration as he says, “I can’t even see my screen, what the f**k!” He added in his tweet that it is completely unusable. Players in the comments informed Aydan that this isn’t just a problem with this skin but many others. Twitter user ‘Inadog’ said, “this happens to all bundles where the operator wears a cape.” This happens to all bundles where the operator wears a cape. It always gets in the way when you’re moving. I learned the hard way and am never buying shit where they wear a cape again. — Ina D. (@inadog) March 5, 2022 Others commented on this and reported that most of the skins that feature a cape-like outfit tend to block your POV. At this time, Activision has not posted this on their Trello boards at a known issue. So players might want to avoid using skins with capes until it gets resolved.

Aydan continues to troll Warzone community with cheat website shoutout – Dexerto
Aydan continues to troll Warzone community with cheat website shoutout Activision / Twitch, AydanWarzone streamer and professional Aydan continues to dominate the streets of Verdansk. As one of the top players in the game, he is constantly accused of being a cheater, and once again trolled the community by thanking a cheat website in a tweet. Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad made his name known in Fortnite when he claimed the throne of Titled Towers over NICKMERCS. Since then, he has joined the New York Subliners as a content creator. The NYSL member also holds the crown in Warzone as the game’s highest earner of all-time with over $270K in prize money from tournaments. With hackers running loose in Verdansk, Aydan is no stranger to trolling his community whenever he gets accused of cheating and his latest tweet keeps him on that same path. Aydan thanks website that provides Warzone hacks The Warzone star recently moved and purchased a house in Texas, and on August 7, thanked his fans for all the support and credits his success in-game. However, he also trolled by shouting out a cheat website, saying, “Couldn’t have afforded the house without them.” Also, shoutout to @engineowningto. Couldn’t have afforded the house without them. https://t.co/VC01tIKLWr — Aydan (@aydan) August 8, 2021 Aydan paid tribute to everyone that thinks he cheats and sarcastically called out the website as the reason for his success. Obviously, he has been a well-known player for quite some time and other members in the community have spoken on how Aydan does not cheat. Previously, he “admitted” to hacking on Twitter, posting every day that he was hacking and wants to see how long it takes him to get caught. Gonna tweet every day to see how long I can get away with hacking. Day 1 of getting away with hacking. — Aydan (@aydan) July 21, 2021 Clearly, this is all in good fun and playing to the trolls as Aydan is one of the most dominant players in the game. For now, Aydan is working on getting everything set up in his new home and hopes to be back streaming very soon.

Aydan continues to break Warzone records amid hacking epidemic – Dexerto
Aydan continues to break Warzone records amid hacking epidemic Aydan, ActivisionWarzone superstar Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad is no stranger to breaking records. In the midst of the hacking epidemic, he’s somehow broken another of his own…in a week. Ten days ago, Aydan threw down the gauntlet with a mighty 52 kills in Solo vs Trios. That impressive stat apparently wasn’t enough though. Armed with the divisive Bizon, Aydan claimed a whopping 61 kills. Only nine players escaped Aydan’s wrath. “Choked the 70” he said in response to an otherwise brilliant game. This new record comes in the face of the ongoing hacking epidemic that is eating away at the Warzone community. 52 kills in Solo Trios gets @aydan his 5th Warzone World Record 🤯 Poor lobby was not ready for the parkour punisher pic.twitter.com/sL8rsHOzNS — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) July 21, 2021 Warzone hacking rolls on Frustrated with the efforts made by Activision and Raven to clamp down on rampant hackers, Aydan is providing his own updates on the situation. With no clear evidence to support their claims, detractors still suggest that Aydan is part of the problem himself. The Warzone powerhouse doesn’t seem to care that much, poking fun back with daily progress of his own “hacking” exploits. Aydan keeps breaking records Aydan has been a trailblazer since his beatboxing bars first appeared on the Verdansk battlefield. It doesn’t matter whether he’s in a squad or going it alone either. Earlier this year, Aydan was joined by ScummN, Almxnd, and Newbz, to claim an insane 162 kills during a $500 wager. It gets even wilder when you break records by accident too. Using the AMP63 pistol, Aydan casually banked 52 kills. Humbly noting this was due to the low K/D ratio present in the lobby, this feat is still one to be remembered. New Squad World Record of 162 kills w/ @ScummN, @Almxnd_ & @TBE_Newbzz in a $500 wager. This will NEVER be broken… pic.twitter.com/iz0odzXq0e — Aydan (@aydan) March 5, 2021 Even if Warzone doesn’t keep Aydan onside going forward, you can be sure his next game of choice won’t be ready for his unparalleled talent.

Aydan considering streaming break due to Warzone 2 “burn out” – Dexerto
Aydan considering streaming break due to Warzone 2 “burn out” AydanProfessional Call of Duty player and content creator Aydan has blamed Warzone 2 for his general “lack of passion” surrounding gaming, explaining how it has led to him feeling burnt out. Warzone 2 has been met with a mixed response from both pro players and the casual CoD community, with many citing their distaste over the game’s changes. Two of the biggest areas of contention have been the lack of player mobility and skill gap – areas Aydan has been frustrated over. In fact, the CoD pro famously labeled Warzone 2 as “the easiest game” in the series, due to the incredibly low TTK. While Aydan has often preferred to return to the old battlegrounds of Warzone 1, he still continues to pursue high-kill count games on Al Mazrah. However, during his recent stream, the pro player explained how Warzone 2 is making him feel burnt out when it comes to gaming. Aydan on lack of passion for Warzone 2 “I just lowkey want to take a f*cking week off of streaming, gaming, everything,” said Aydan. “I’ve been wanting to play sports and sh*t lately, like go outside. I don’t know if that would help, I really don’t know.” It’s clear the CoD pro isn’t having a good time in Warzone 2 and his general enjoyment seems to be at an all-time low. “I’ve lost my passion for this game, like a lot though. Like, if I could choose, I would sit here and be a retired old fart and just play World of Warcraft all day – no joke.” Aydan was also keen to highlight that he recently had time away from streaming, due to his Twitch ban and family vacation. However, this has seemingly done very little in terms of helping him rekindle his love for Warzone. Whether Aydan will be able to rediscover his passion Warzone remains to be seen, but for now, it’s clear that the streamer isn’t a fan of the sequel.

Aydan claims MP7 dethrones Vaznev as “best” SMG in MW2 Ranked play – Dexerto
Aydan claims MP7 dethrones Vaznev as “best” SMG in MW2 Ranked play Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play expert Aydan explained why the Vaznev 9K needs to watch its back in SMG rankings. Historically, a CoD competitive meta rarely shakes up after it takes shape. There are a few rare exceptions. During CoD Vanguard, Kris ‘Spart’ Cervantez broke the game’s meta by using a Volk to help LAG win CDL Major 2. During the first week of Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play, community members ditched the TAQ-56 in favor of the ISO Hemlock. New trends never last too long in competitive CoD, as the Volk and Hemlock were swiftly banned after gaining popularity. As it stands, players only use a TAQ-56 or Vaznev in MW2, but Aydan believes the Vel 46 (MP7) can cause a disturbance to the previously untouchable meta. Is the Vel 46 better than the Vaznev in MW2 Ranked Play? Aydan tested the Vel 46 during a Ranked Play match with the number one player in Ranked Play and two other top 10 players. He dropped 32 kills alternating between a TAQ-56 and Vel 46. “The Vaznev has been meta for quite some time, and I think other people want to see something else become the meta, and a lot of people have been using the MP7 recently.” “The MP7 is without a doubt the most fun SMG to use right now” If you need more convincing, one of the best SMG players in the CDL, Anthony ‘Shotzzy’ Cuevas-Castro, has obliterated Ranked Play lobbies with his own Vel 46 loadout. Aydan claimed that the Vel 46 is the most fun weapon but also argued it outclasses the Vaznev in some areas. “I think the MP7 is a lot better than the Vaznev in that barrel stuff range, but I think it just kind of lacks in medium range where the Vaznev can beam longer.” Best Vel 46 (MP7) loadout in Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play Here is Aydan’s Vel 46 loadout Muzzle: Bruen Pendulum – Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90 – Magazine: 30 Round Mag – Stock: Demo RXT Stock – Rear Grip: Schlager Soldier Grip – Don’t expect to win too many medium to long-range engagements with the Vel 46, but look no further than this loadout when you need firepower up close and personal.

Aydan calls out “embarrassing” Warzone hacking as xQc struggles against cheats – Dexerto
Aydan calls out “embarrassing” Warzone hacking as xQc struggles against cheats New York Subliners/Twitch: xQcOWTop Warzone pro Aydan has called out the “embarrassing” hacking situation in Warzone, as Twitch phenom Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel struggled against cheaters during a sponsored stream. Hacking has long been one of the biggest issues in Warzone, if not the biggest. Despite numerous ban waves and even a kernel-level anti-cheat system in place, Activision and developers Raven Software have struggled to get a grip on the problem and eradicate it. While at first, the RICOCHET anti-cheat seemed to work well, hackers have returned to Warzone steadily, and xQc had to bear the unfortunate brunt of it during a sponsored stream. After tuning into the Canadian’s channel, Aydan was clearly not happy and hit out at the devs over their lack of ability to fix the problem. On March 21, xQc did a sponsored stream of Warzone, a game he very rarely plays. In fact, he had played it the day before but was inundated with stream snipers, even mocking one NICKMERCS fan who he accused of stream sniping. Aydan tuned into the stream, expecting some light entertainment, but instead, it left a sour taste in his mouth. “I’ve been watching xQc play Warzone for sponsored stream and the guy has been dying to hackers over and over,” he said. “Imagine paying the biggest streamer to stream your game and have an absolutely miserable time.” I’ve been watching @xQc play Warzone for sponsored stream and the guy has been dying to hackers over and over. Imagine paying the biggest streamer to stream your game and have an absolutely miserable time. Very embarrassing @RavenSoftware 😂 — Aydan (@aydan) March 22, 2022 Adding that the situation is “very embarrassing” and tagging Raven Software, Aydan clearly wants something to be done within the game and the anti-cheat be better implemented. xQc played Warzone for a few hours, but was frustrated by the game almost from the offset, and it’s hard to blame him. Needless to say, with Warzone 2 coming out at some point in the future, Activision will want to make sure they do even more to counter the hacking problem.

Aydan calls out “dead” Warzone esports scene ahead of World Series tournaments – Dexerto
Aydan calls out “dead” Warzone esports scene ahead of World Series tournaments AydanWhile the Call of Duty World Series of Warzone’s main event will soon be underway, Aydan believes the game’s competitive scene is “dead” when compared to games like Apex Legends. Like most competitive multiplayer games, Warzone hosts its own tournaments where players from around the world can compete against one another for titles and huge cash prizes. However, the popular BR has received a significant drop in the number of tourneys, which has led to a lot of frustration from the game’s pro players. This is in direct contrast to games like Apex Legends, which Aydan believes treats competitive play a lot more seriously than Warzone. With the Call of Duty World Series of Warzone underway, the streamer has outlined his concerns for the current health of the tournament scene. Aydan calls out lack of Warzone tournaments “Warzone doesn’t have any tourneys, I’m not even joking,” said Aydan. “Warzone is so dead, the only reason they’re doing World Series of Warzone is probably because they have to do it once a year or something, I don’t know.” The World Series of Warzone aims to pit the biggest names in Warzone against one another in order to win a massive cash prize, but Aydan believes there just hasn’t been enough interest in tourneys from the developers and tournament organizers. “We had two [tourneys] on Verdansk but that’s because we had two years on Verdansk, right? They’re just going to do a World Series of Warzone, I don’t know they probably already had that sh*t planned and they have to do it. They’ll probably do it before the next CoD comes out,” said the streamer. “Besides that, there’s literally no tournaments and it just goes to show that none of the tournament organizers want to invest any money into this game because it f*cking blows. I don’t blame them.” Whether Warzone 2 will increase the number of tournaments remains to be seen, but for now, pro players will be hoping that the competitive scene is less “dead” than the current iteration.

Aydan calls for Warzone controller aim assist nerfs to tackle “unfair” advantage – Dexerto
Aydan calls for Warzone controller aim assist nerfs to tackle “unfair” advantage AydanAim assist has been a point of contention in Warzone since the game’s release and Aydan has now called for the developers to nerf it. While both PC and console have their own unique advantages and disadvantages in Warzone, there’s no denying how potent controller aim assist is. From quickly snapping onto targets in close-quarter fights to effortlessly slide canceling around the battlefield, controller players certainly have a lot of advantages. However, the strongest and most divisive feature has always been aim assist. While this feature has been a point of contention since CoD’s crossplay integration with PC, Aydan believes controller aim assist needs to be nerfed in the game, citing how “unfair” it is when compared to its mouse and keyboard counterpart. Aydan calls out “unfair” Warzone controller aim assist Despite predominantly playing Warzone with a controller, Aydan decided to mix things up for his viewers. During his recent Warzone stream, the popular CoD content creator switched over to mouse and keyboard to test out how it impacts his overall gameplay. While the streamer did manage to claim some kills with the setup, he did appear to have a rather difficult time, especially during close-quarter engagements. However, it was during a very close engagement when the streamer pointed out how unfair he believes aim assist to be when compared to mouse and keyboard. “Mouse and keyboard is hard, dude,” said the streamer after getting eliminated by another player. “Up close, you have to have perfect aim. Controller, you just get perfect aim for free — it’s kind of sad. I think aim assist should definitely be nerfed in [Warzone]. It should definitely be nerfed a little bit. It’s so unfair, I’m not even trolling.” Whether the developers will make any changes to controller aim assist with the release of Warzone 2 remains to be seen, but for now, it will continue to be a divisive feature within the casual and competitive scene.

Aydan baits everyone with fake Warzone ban ahead of org reveal – Dexerto
Aydan baits everyone with fake Warzone ban ahead of org reveal Twitch: Aydan / Raven SoftwareCall of Duty star Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad claimed to have been banned from Warzone mid-tournament, but the battle royale star was simply just “getting the impressions going” ahead of a big announcement. On March 15, the pro started the hype wave for what org he would be joining. As Warzone’s highest-earning player, there’s plenty of reasons for him to have the pick of the litter when it comes to interested teams. While he can land anywhere, there’s a reasonable amount of fanfare about his potential landing place. After all, he’s regularly seen playing tourneys with 100 Thieves’ Rhys ‘Rated’ Price A showman in his own right, Aydan is building up to his announcement in case anyone happens to forget that the Warzone pro is expected to be signing with a team. “Wtf… Banned mid-tournament,” he said, appending an image of him apparently being permanently ousted from Warzone’s servers. He even leaned into the meme on Twitch with the title: ‘Banned Mid-Tourney So I’m On An Alt.’ Immediately, his fans started playing along with the meme, saying ‘he was hacking’ or that he deserved it. “Yes,” Aydan said to his Twitch Chat. “I’m trolling. I’m trolling. I’m trying to get the impressions going.” Needless to say, it worked. The tweet so far has people talking, with over 150+ retweets and hundreds more commenting. Just a few hours before, he told his audience that he was playing in the $30,000 Jack Links 2v2 tourney with Rated, so there was some merit to believe in the bait. The bait has precedence too. 6-year-old streamer ‘RowdyRogan’ and his team staged a viral Warzone ban during the FaZe5 challenge top 20. It could be that Aydan is drawing on some of that energy for his upcoming org announcement, which seemed to reignite conversations about his possible whereabouts in tomorrow’s reveal. Aydan was once a Fortnite competitor who massively impressed in Warzone before making the switch. He’s a battle royale phenom, and people can’t wait to see which team he chooses to rep.

Aydan and Swagg reveal their $300K World Series of Warzone trios – Dexerto
Aydan and Swagg reveal their $300K World Series of Warzone trios Andbox / Instagram, @Swagg_Call of Duty: Warzone star Twitch streamers Aydan and Swagg have both casually revealed their World Series of Warzone trios after being announced as captains for the June 23, $300,000 tournament. The $1.2 million World Series of Warzone is the biggest tournament series in the game’s history and, as such, has some remarkably large names involved. With 150 players set to play in the first $300,000 WSOW private lobby on June 23, a variety of participants continue to be revealed. In coordination with the Call of Duty League, the tournament series features CDL pros, Warzone stars, and lesser-known invitees who qualified in open tourneys. During June 10’s Summer Game Fest, Johanna Faries announced five streamer captains as well: TimTheTatMan, Dan Dangler, Nadeshot, Swagg, and Aydan. The latter two, both superstar Twitch streamers and frequent Warzone competitors, have subtly announced their trios for the event. First, Aydan — who is the highest earner in Warzone — revealed that he’ll be teaming with a stacked group. Hey Guys! It’s official… I’m a captain for #WSOW. I’ll be competing against the biggest names including @Nadeshot @timthetatman @Swagg @thedandangler I’ll be drafting #TeamRaydsKerrs on June 22. Where my squad leaders at? 👀 #CoD_Partner pic.twitter.com/LSyr9HZhSK — Aydan (@aydan) June 10, 2021 Based on recent tournaments and Aydan’s hashtag, it seems that he’ll be teaming with Rated and HusKerrs. This is a strong team, composed of Warzone’s three highest earners. This three also got some custom-lobby practice in with a top-five finish at the latest $25K TeeP’s Trials. Aydan’s World Series of Warzone team Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad – Rhys ‘Rated’ Price – Jordan ‘HusKerrs’ Thomas – As for Swagg, he was a little less subtle about his squad, as he tagged both expected teammates in a tweet. Swagg’s team puts him alongside his longtime duo (and Nuke Squad brethren) Booya and one of Warzone’s most dominant competitors (and most mysterious), Diaz Biffle. Swagg’s World Series of Warzone team Kris ‘Swagg’ Lamberson – Booya – DiazBiffle – While other WSOW teams, like OpTic Chicago and the New York Subliners’, are stacked with legendary CoD players — these two Warzone units should be among the favorites to win. No player in either of these trios ranks outside of the top 24 for earners in Warzone, so it’s clear that they’re formidable in tournament play. Still, as the WSOW will take place in private lobbies, this should be a new environment for the game’s stars, who typically play Duo Quads and kill races.

Aydan and MuteX win latest Warzone Wednesday – Week 9 placements, recap – Dexerto
Aydan and MuteX win latest Warzone Wednesday – Week 9 placements, recap Infinity Ward / KeemParkAfter a two-week absence, YouTuber Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem brought back his fan-favorite Warzone Wednesday tournament series, and we’ve got everything you need to catch up on all of the action. There had been a void in the Call of Duty community with the absence of Warzone Wednesday, but now the popular competition has returned for its ninth week of action. As always, it featured some of the biggest names in online gaming, and there was some extra attention being paid to this latest running since it was the last one before the highly-anticipated Modern Warfare Season 4 update launches later on June 10. $20K Warzone Wednesdays Week 9 recap Week 9 of KEEMSTAR’s Warzone competition opened with a bang. Three-time event champions Vikkstar and ItzWarsz found themselves up against Symfuhny and HusKerrs in the very first round. After many complaints of griefing, Vikkstar’s team controversially moved on to the second match in the upper bracket. They were quickly knocked down by MuteX and Aydan, then struggled to find their footing against KingRichard and Jukeyz. Before they knew it, their run in Week 9 was over. MuteX and Aydan continued their run through the upper bracket all the way through. Even taking out the likes of TeePee and DougisRaw. Ultimately, it came down to a final battle against KingRichard and Jukeyz. Jukeyz dropped a staggering 21 eliminations in the first game to secure his team an initial victory. The rest of the series was a back and forth slog that came down to the wire in the final map. MuteX and Aydan went down early, opening the door for a potential upset. KingRichard and Jukeyz needed just a handful of kills to win the event but they fell just short in the final moments. Ultimately, MuteX and Aydan came away victorious. Warzone Wednesdays Week 9 Placements When was Warzone Wednesday Week 9? The tournament took place on Wednesday, June 10, having kicked off at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET. The tournament ran for just over five hours. It was livestreamed on KEEMSTAR’s own Twitch channel, which we’ve included below. Additionally, most of the players streamed their own POVs on their channels, some of which we’ve also added down below. Warzone Wednesday Week 9 bracket Here is the finalized bracket for today’s event. You can check the official Warzone Wednesday website throughout each week of competition as results are updated live. Players and teams Warzone Wednesday is usually full of big names, and week nine is no exception. Competing were a mix of top-tier streamers, Call of Duty pros, battle royale stars, and other popular figures in gaming. Star YouTuber Vikkstar and his partner ItzWarsZ were back to try and defend their crown, having won a whopping three events in a row. Meanwhile, former winners Bobbypoff and Tommey were out for vengeance as well. Vikkstar & ItzWarsZ – Speros & Dwarf_Mamba – Bobbypoff & Tommey – Symfuhny & HusKerrs – DougisRaw & TeePee – Tourva & Censor – Trainwreck & FeLo – NICKMERCS & Swagg – Mutex & Aydan – Testyment & Avxry – Calfreezy & Zerker – KingRichard & Jukeyz – Format & rules Warzone Wednesday is a duos competition that employs a 2v2 “kill race” format. Teams matched up against each other must queue into a Quads lobby together and try to get more eliminations than the other – so while they’re technically teammates in-game, they are opponents for the purposes of the tournament. Each match consists of two Warzone games, and the duo with the more combined eliminations advances to the next round once those games are played. There are two phases in this tournament – a group stage and final stage. In the group stage, the 12 teams face each other in a do-or-die match that sees the winners advance to the next phase while the losers get immediately eliminated. The final stage is double-elimination, so teams can afford to take a loss and still continue on. However, in the Grand Final, the team that makes it out of the Winners Bracket has a distinct advantage over the duo from the Losers Bracket, as the former needs to win only one match to be crowned champions while the latter needs to win two. As for the prize pool, the entirety of the $20,000 went to the winning duo.

Aydan and Atlanta FaZe win $100k Warzone Twitch Rivals – final placements – Dexerto
Aydan and Atlanta FaZe win $100k Warzone Twitch Rivals – final placements Activision/MLG/Epic Games/TwitchAydan, Priestahh and Abezy won Twitch Rivals first venture into Call of Duty: Warzone on March 26, with a host of the world’s biggest streamers clashing in CoD’s sophomore battle royale effort. The March 25/26 Twitch Rivals Warzone tournament is the latest competitive venture into Call of Duty’s Warzone, the acclaimed battle royale that released on March 10. While not initially designed for competitive play, it is no surprise that the world’s biggest content creators have descended on the title in the same way Fortnite and Apex Legends were following their releases. The tournament was split into two sections, with the solos tournament running on March 25, before the trios competition took place on March 26. It also boasted a total $100,000 prize pool, with $39,000/day in Public Matchmaking and $11,000/day in Bonuses. First place on either day claimed $6,000, second place $4,200 and third place took home $3,600. Twitch Rivals Warzone Solos Tournament Final Placings Day one (March 25) saw Team DrDisrespect take the cake, with an impressive 211 points from his five games. Team ImMarksman also finished on 211 total points, but achieved a lower ‘Best Game’ points tally (46 compared to the Doc’s 48), and so had to settle for second on Day One of the Twitch Rivals tournament. You can see the full standings for the March 25 Solos Tournament below. Twitch Rivals Warzone Trios Tournament Final Placings Day two saw Team Aydan – led by Ghost Gaming Fortnite professional Aydan Conrad – run out winners, with a whopping 407 points from their five games. His teammates, Preston ‘Priestahh’ Greiner and Tyler ‘aBeZy’ Pharris, are both professional Modern Warfare players for Atlanta FaZe. This saw them finish comfortably in first place, 40 points ahead of second-placed Team TeePee. Teep, who placed a respectable third in the Solos tournament, led his team to second in the trios portion of the tournament, meaning they finished second overall, joint with Team Aydan for total prize money won. Team Aydan took first place overall though, thanks to their higher points tally. Third place in the trios tournament was taken by Team Mendokusaii, who amassed a very impressive 337 points from five games. You can see the full standings for the March 26 Trios Tournament below. Twitch Rivals Warzone Tournament Final Prize Pool Breakdown Thanks to an eight place finish in the Solos tournament, and a first place in the Trios, Team Aydan finished first overall, with a total of $7,800 winnings. Second place went to Team TeePee, as the ex-CoD World Champion achieved a third-place finish in the Solos, and then a second-placed finish in the Trios. Third place in the prize pool breakdown went to Team DrDisrespect, as a result of a disappointing 14th place finish in the tournament’s Trios section. You can see the full Prize Pool breakdown for the Twitch Rivals Warzone Tournament below. Note that this does not include the bonus prize money given out over the two days of the competition. There you have it, Team Aydan’s resurgence in the Trios competition saw them come out on top of the overall prize pool breakdown. The Twitch Rivals tournament was immensely popular among viewers, amassing hundreds of thousands of viewers across all participants’ channels. Given how well it went down, we can expect to see multiple other tournaments scheduled in the near future.

Aydan & Almond help set unbreakable Warzone world quads record – Dexerto
Aydan & Almond help set unbreakable Warzone world quads record Twitter, @Aydan / AlmondBlessed with a godsend of a Warzone lobby, Aydan and Almond set a new, legitimately unbreakable Quads record during a 2v2 wager against Newbz and ScummN: 162 kills. What happens when four of the best players to touch Warzone end up in a Bronze I lobby? If you’re Aydan, Almond, Newbz and ScummN playing each other with money on the line, then 162 kills happens. While just about 150 players drop into Verdansk normally, this quartet managed to call upon the spirits of buy-backs and Gulag wins to kill everyone and everything in Verdansk, some multiple times. The previous world record was an insane 143 kills and set back in January, but this group somehow managed to get 19 more. Split into pairs for a 2v2 wager, betting gifted subs, Aydan and Almond raced against Newbz and ScummN to get the most kills in the lobby. By the end, though, the group started to realize that playing against each other was less important than teaming up to secure as many kills as possible. In 2v2 wagers, pace is the most important part of the game. As such, it should be no surprise that each pair blitzed toward the finish line, racking up kill after kill. In around 10 hours of streaming, the group managed to get a rare Bronze lobby, and they took full advantage of it. Practically every world record is set in a lucky bot lobby, but few can manage to keep up the speed these four required to hit 162. Eventually, with Aydan and Almond already sitting on 40-plus kills each, the duos decided their wager was done and it was time to start working together. Rocking AUGs, popping UAVs and dropping bags of money hoping enemies would revive their teammates for more victims, the group blended Verdansk up in an unprecedented fashion. New Squad World Record of 162 kills w/ @ScummN, @Almxnd_ & @TBE_Newbzz in a $500 wager. This will NEVER be broken… pic.twitter.com/iz0odzXq0e — Aydan (@aydan) March 5, 2021 As Aydan mentioned in his tweet, this record is unlikely to ever be broken. ScummN, who was part of that previous 143 record, helped prove that fact — as he was in utter disbelief at the number their squad put up. Consistently thanking the lobby gods for such a gift, the quartet did what they could with the hand they were dealt. And what they could just so happened to be an absurd 162 kills. Of course, the team knew VPN accusations and the like would fly, so Almond made sure to remind haters that this was an exceptional gift of a lobby after hours spent dealing with Diamond competition.

AX-50 Warzone loadout turns it into Intervention from Modern Warfare 2 – Dexerto
AX-50 Warzone loadout turns it into Intervention from Modern Warfare 2 ActivisionWith Modern Warfare 2 nostalgia in the air and as strong as ever, you can actually turn the AX-50 into the Intervention in Warzone with a few simple loadout tweaks. As the Call of Duty community is ready to close the book on Vanguard and make the switch over to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, nostalgia has been rife about the original game that was released back in 2009. Even though it had plenty of problems, mainly with broken guns, MW2 has always been a source of heavy nostalgia for the CoD community as they harken back to halcyon days when the ACR, Model-1887, and Intervention sniper ran riot in toxic lobbies. Some players have been trying to replicate the classic weapons in both Warzone and the since-concluded MW2 (2022) beta, and you can actually bring back the Intervention in two different ways. How to make MW2 Intervention in Warzone Warzone YouTuber TheKoreanSavage highlighted this in his September 27 video, where he noted that the AX50 and SP-R 208 snipers can both be made to look and feel like the Intervention. However, when it comes to using it in-game, he gives the nod to the AX-50 as the better choice even though the SP-R 208 can be pretty nutty. The AX-50 can be made to replicate the iconic CoD sniper rifle with a few simple tweaks, including using the 32.0 Factory Barrel, Singuard Arms Assassin stock, and the Tripod underbarrel. Though, sadly, there is no noise pack to bring back those famous sounds of sending shots at enemies. Barrel: 32.0 Factory Barrel – Laser: Tac Laser – Optic: Variable Zoom Scope – Underbarrel: Tripod – Stock: Singuard Arms Assassin – Now, the look of the sniper is pretty much where the comparison between the AX-50 and Intervention end, seeing as it’s not as quick as the classic MW2 sniper. Though, it is a nice little nod to an iconic weapon that should satisfy your nostalgia cravings until the new game is released.

Awesome Modern Warfare map layout combines Crossfire and Bog – Dexerto
Awesome Modern Warfare map layout combines Crossfire and Bog Infinity WardA creative design for a Modern Warfare map would combine two fan-favorite locales from Call of Duty 4 into an epic battlefield for the latest game. A stitchwork for long-range maps Bog and Crossfire would make the hybrid map look a lot like its COD4 campaign counterpart, but with more lanes to let players move about the different terrain. In creating the design, aptly named ‘Wartorn,’ Reddit user ‘xQcs_taxes’ wanted to bring a revival of sorts for the cherished maps but with a new twist that would let it serve a higher volume of players. “I’ve always pictured Bog and Crossfire together since I first played COD 4,” they explained, making note of the multiplayer variants rather than the campaign design. “I’d love to see both of these maps make a return in a unique way that connects them and allows for a ‘new’ Ground War map. It would fit perfectly with the game; it could have a night and day version.” Though their original design only gave players a single lane that would connect the two maps, a revised version gave the map a lot more depth and flexibility. There’s a ton of space to work within the revised version which positions Bog on the south end while transitioning to the tattered streets of Crossfire. Separate alleyways would let players weave through the two terrains and for good measure seeing as both maps were popular for long-range sniping. Ground War already gives players plenty of reasons to stay perched in a single spot to scope out players from a distance, so having extra buildings and tight corridors would be perfect to counter annoying snipers. Since its October 2019 launch, developers Infinity Ward has revived popular maps from Call of Duty history. Maps like Crash, Shipment, and Vacant, that are now in the game, came from the 2008 CoD entry that forever changed the franchise as a whole. While this map concept might need some fine-tuning, it could be a new way for Infinity Ward to incorporate its older locations into the game instead of the remasters with minimal changes.

Awesome CoD cosplay perfectly recreates Black Ops 4’s Ruin – Dexerto
Awesome CoD cosplay perfectly recreates Black Ops 4’s Ruin Treyarch/Instagram: demateralizA professional cosplayer known as ‘demateraliz’ has shared his incredible interpretation of Donnie ‘Ruin’ Walsh, the gravity-slamming specialist from Black Ops 3 and 4. Call of Duty is not typically associated with excellent cosplaying, but the most recent installments in Activision’s FPS series have introduced some creatively designed characters for cosplayers to try their hands at. Black Ops 3 introduced specialist characters for the first time in CoD history, and reintroduced a selection of their original cast for 2018’s Black Ops 4. One of the characters brought back for the fourth installment in Treyarch’s series was Donnie ‘Ruin’ Walsh, the gravity-slamming specialist who was a popular pick in Black Ops 3. While his gravity spikes were somewhat toned down in Black Ops 4, his unique character design was maintained. The trademark mohawk stayed, alongside some vivid facial tattoos and the badass American attitude. These are characteristics that have been perfected by the cosplayer, who also dons the bland overalls and knee pads Ruin is typically seen with. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_O4OhUKDsN/ Despite perfecting a number of cosplays on his Instagram, including God of War’s Kratos, he explained that the Ruin look is the “most uncomfortable” cosplay he’s done, and “it feels like being squeezed into a tin can”. His photoshoot perfectly captures the character too, with the desolate, dark landscape looking like the result of one of his gravity slams. The commitment to the cosplay is also evident, with the facial tattoos visible next to the easily-recognizable mohawk. It reiterates the exceptional lengths some cosplayers go to in order to perfect their outfits, all in order to accurately recreate a fan-favorite character.

Australian CoD pro Denz looks set to make international move following announcement – Dexerto
Australian CoD pro Denz looks set to make international move following announcement Australian veteran CoD pro Denholm ‘Denz’ Taylor has officially left Mindfreak, after a year and a half with the organization, and is looking for an international opportunity as he takes the next step in his career. The announcement from Mindfreak had been expected, as Denz previously made clear his intentions to travel to North America or Europe for the Black Ops 4 season. Posting on Twitter, the Australian said he wanted “to take the next step” in his career, and didn’t think it would be possible while staying “down under”. Mindfreak have been by far the best team in the APAC region in the last few years, and although they couldn’t adjust to the step up in competition when it came to the CWL Pro League (failing to make playoffs in either stage), Denz was a standout performer. He posted a 1.28 K/D in Search and Destroy in Stage Two of the Pro League, the sixth highest overall, and was also the 15th most efficient slayer in respawn modes in the league. It was confirmed at the 2019 season reveal that the region lock roster rules would be lifted for the CWL in Black Ops 4. Mindfreak announced his official release on Wednesday, September 26, thanking him not only for his performances, but also “everything he’s done for Australian Call of Duty.” Tonight we farewell @MF_Denz from the #MFCOD roster. We wish him the best of luck in the next chapter of his journey and thank him for everything he’s done for Mindfreak and Australian Call of Duty. We’ll see you on the battlefield. #BlackOps4 | @CODWorldLeague pic.twitter.com/gqaapkqqUM — Mindfreak (@Mindfreak) September 26, 2018 As for his next move, the rumor mill is already in full swing, and the most likely destination for Denz will be alongside European players Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewren, Bradley ‘wuskin’ Marshall, Sean ‘Seay’ O’Connor and Zach ‘Zed’ Denyer. All of these players except Tommey were with UNILAD Esports during the WWII season, but it seems almost certain that they will be playing for a new organization during the Black Ops 4 season. As for the identity of that organization, there is not much to go on. However, Chad Larsson – the owner of new esports team Reciprocity – has followed all five of these players on Twitter, which doesn’t seem like a coincidence.

August 14 Call of Duty 2020 teaser unlocks secret room in Warzone – Dexerto
August 14 Call of Duty 2020 teaser unlocks secret room in Warzone Infinity Ward / PrestigeisKey[jwplayer UQSrvz25] A new teaser for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has surfaced, leading players to discover a previously inaccessible door in Warzone that can now be unlocked. With only a couple of months to go until the expected release of Call of Duty’s 2020 installment, Activision are starting to tease the game more and more by sending players on a quest for clues. After the mysterious crates sent to content creators were opened on August 10, fans discovered a teaser website that, on August 14, played some news footage of the Cold War, more specifically the major events of 1961-1962. Read More: Spratt says SBMM could ruin CoD 2020 – While the video itself didn’t include anything important about CoD 2020, the animated VHS tape used to play it did: coordinates that pointed to the Krovnik Farmland location on the Warzone map. As expected, it didn’t take long for players to find exactly what the clue was for; turns out there’s a secret room in one of the Farmland buildings that, using the combination printed on the VHS tape, can be unlocked. Popular CoD content creator PrestigeIsKey was one of the first to discover this and enter the area, which was locked behind a door that you could not previously open. (@PrestigeIsKey) August 14, 2020 The room itself looks exactly like what you’d expect a military-style bunker would look like during the Cold War era. Various meters and gauges adorn the walls and boxes of files can be found all over, some of which are spread out on several of the tables. Obviously this looks like a lot of gibberish at the moment, as it should! Turns out that Activision’s plan for this particular teaser involves releasing bits and pieces on a daily basis. On the official teaser website, they’ve updated a picture of the schedule that they appear to be following. It now shows August 14 scratched out and the redacted text under it has been uncovered to reveal that there will be something new released on August 15. Under that, there are four more redacted lines of text, which suggests that this process could extend for five more days and up to Wednesday, August 19. Presumably, once all parts come out, then players will be able to finally piece together what Activision are trying to relay through these cryptic clues. At that point, the question will be whether the final solution is an official reveal for Call of Duty 2020 or a pointer to the next teaser.

Attach Thinks Almost Every CoD Team Will Make Roster Changes – Dexerto
Attach Thinks Almost Every CoD Team Will Make Roster Changes Former World Champion and long-time FaZe Clan CoD player Dillon ‘Attach’ Price believes almost every professional Call of Duty team will make roster changes during the offseason. While broadcasting on Twitch, Attach was asked which teams he thought would make a team change, Price gave a surprising answer, stating “Pretty much all of them. That’s my intel for today. Pretty much all of them.” Attach then went on to explain that he felt it was unlikely that Evil Geniuses, who won the 2018 CWL Championships, would make a change, mainly due to the backlash they may receive for such a decision. “You can change after winning Champs, but you really can’t. It’s just a bad look.” When considering the future of the FaZe line-up which he is currently a member of, Attach stated that they wouldn’t be making a change heading into Black Ops 4, jokingly adding; “I don’t think we’re making a change. Unless I get dropped, you know, which would be unfortunate.” Price isn’t the only person to have leaked RosterMania intel so far. FooYa leaked that Kenny was leaving Team Kaliber just days before he was announced as part of the new 100 Thieves squad, and recently the infamous ‘CoDBurner’ has reappeared on Reddit. With Black Ops 4 just over a month away, teams have moved quickly to make roster moves in preparation of the upcoming season. Splyce have made sweeping changes to their lineup, with Jurd currently the only player left on the squad after Bance announced free agency, while Kenny and Fero have both joined 100 Thieves. With the first event of the Black Ops 4 season set for Las Vegas on December 7th, it will be fascinating to watch new squads assemble as they aim to get their year off to a flying start.

Attach Shares First Look At New Optic Gaming’s Performance – Dexerto
Attach Shares First Look At New Optic Gaming’s Performance Following the creation of the new look OpTic Gaming Call of Duty Roster, FaZe Clan’s Dillon “Attach” Price has uploaded a video of their first scrim. OpTic Gaming’s new squad was unveiled on Sunday May 6th during an episode of Vision, with Matthew “FormaL” Piper and Damon “Karma” Barlow leaving the team after more than three years and Sam “Octane” Larew and Anthony “Methodz” Zinni joining from Luminosity Gaming and Team Kaliber respectively. The change marked the end of an era for a team who had been incredibly dominant across multiple games, amassing a total of 18 championships, including the CWL Championship 2017. Despite their previous success, the Call of Duty: World War II season saw a series of disappointing results for the original roster, including losing two best of fives to FaZe Clan at the CWL Stage One Playoffs, which eventually led to the change. The aim of picking up Octane and Methodz, who have both won championships this season, for OpTic Gaming is to get back to winning form, but after FaZe Clan’s Attach uploaded a video of the two teams scrimming, it looks like they still have a way to go. As both Attach and OpTic’s Seth “Scump” Abner point out, it is the team’s very first scrim, so their results are unlikely to be as good as FaZe’s, who have been teaming together since the start of the year, but with FaZe’s decisive win of 250-126 on Gibraltar Hardpoint OpTic will definitely be going back to the drawing board. Fans of the squad shouldn’t get too worried yet, as they’ll be competing in Division B of the CWL Pro League Stage Two, which kicks off on May 29th, meaning they still have plenty of time to practice. It looks like Attach also expects the team to improve, as he said the video would be good for them to look back at when they win a tournament to highlight exactly how far they will have come. It’s gonna be a good video to look back on after you guys win a tournament. Will show the progress — FaZe Attach (@Attach) 8 May 2018 Could we see OpTic Gaming return to their previous power with this new roster?

Attach reveals the best “pro player settings” in Modern Warfare – Dexerto
Attach reveals the best “pro player settings” in Modern Warfare New York Subliners’ professional Call of Duty player Dillon ‘Attach’ Price has released a video explaining the best pro player settings in Modern Warfare, ahead of the Call of Duty League’s inaugural season. When a new Call of Duty title releases each year, it’s not easy to know the best settings, competitive classes or ways to play straight away. Luckily for us, there are a number of players who go out of their way to provide instructional or helpful videos around everything Call of Duty, and this one from former FaZe Clan player Attach could be great for players looking to get any possible edge on their opponents. Audio Settings The video, published on January 2, goes through the best audio and monitor settings to optimize your gameplay. First, though, he expresses the importance of turning field grain down and urges players to turn off both world and weapon motion blur, stating that it needs to be done. Moving on to audio, one of the main focuses of this video, Attach has his setup as follows: Audio Mix: Boost High – Master Volume: 80 – Music Volume: 0 – Dialogue Volume: 100 – Effects Volume: 100 – Juggernaut Music: Enabled – Hit Marker Sound Effects: MW – Attach then moves on to his Astro Gaming mixamp, showing that he usually keeps his volume at around 70% but has it weighted more towards voice than game sound. Monitor Settings Attach also expresses the importance of using the right monitor settings, which makes perfect sense: after all, if you can’t see what’s happening in front of you, you’re at a serious disadvantage. His settings are as follows: Game Visual: FPS Mode – Brightness: 100 – Contrast: 80 – Saturation: 50 – Sharpness: 100 – Trace Free: 80 – Volume: 0 – Attach then leaves the rest of his settings as they are, finding his optimal visual settings and the ones he says he uses at LAN tournaments. Attach doesn’t specify which monitor he uses so some settings may be different between his and other players but at the very least, you could use this as a rough guideline. The former FaZe Clan member and world champion will be looking to return to glory this coming season, and these settings may be just what’s needed to bridge the gap between him and aspiring pro players.

Attach reveals his top 10 most skilled Call of Duty pros of all time – Dexerto
Attach reveals his top 10 most skilled Call of Duty pros of all time Activision/YouTube: AttachMinnesota RØKKR star and Call of Duty world champion Dillon ‘Attach’ Price has revealed his list for the top 10 most skilled CoD pros of all time, and it makes for a pretty interesting list. While many fans will debate the greatest player of all time — be it Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter, Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow or someone else completely — Attach has decided to look at the raw skill of some of the world’s very best. Obviously, this is a different kettle of fish. For example, Crimsix is often regarded as the greatest due to his incredible accomplishments, but Attach doesn’t regard him as the most skilled pro of all time. So when we’re just looking at raw, individual talent, the list looks a little different, and a lot of it comes down to opinion too. Of course, some names that appear on the list are obvious, while the order and certain names are sure to cause some debate among the community. The list features a mix of older and younger players, with the likes of Chris ‘Simp’ Lehr clearly having made a huge impact on the scene in the last few years. Here’s how Attach’s top 10 goes: Scump – aBeZy – Simp – FormaL – ZooMaa – Dashy – Huke – Clayster – Apathy – Crimsix – For the most part, people will agree with much of the names on this list, albeit the order of them may be up for contention. For example, some may want to see players like Karma or John on the list, and there’s definitely an argument to be made for someone like Dashy to be higher up the list. Ultimately, though, this is just Attach’s opinion, and he’s probably got a better idea of just how skilled these guys are than most others.

Attach proves how broken Modern Warfare is with mindblowing weapon glitch – Dexerto
Attach proves how broken Modern Warfare is with mindblowing weapon glitch It’s no secret Modern Warfare has its fair share of glitches, and star Call of Duty pro player Dillon ‘Attach’ Price proved it with an absurd weapon bug. There was a lot of anticipation surrounding the release of Modern Warfare in October, not only due to it being a new Call of Duty game but also because of its realistic gunplay and unprecedented cross-platform capabilities. However, for a lot of players, that excitement became muddied with disappointment at how bugged the game was. Even now, with its two-month anniversary approaching, MW still has issues that continue to frustrate the player-base. Attach, one of the more well-known figures in the CoD community, was victimized by a game-breaking weapon bug that essentially made his M4 assault rifle completely useless. When he shot the gun, it would fire blanks and inflict zero damage on enemy players, despite the fact that he was clearly aiming right at them. What’s more concerning is that the issue continued to persist for a good amount of time, even after Attach reloaded his weapon more than once and tried to fire at different enemy players. It’s no surprise that he reacted the way he did and asked for the sequence to be clipped from his Twitch stream. For someone who’s played the game at a high level for such a long time, it must have been mindblowing for him to encounter such a preposterous glitch. It’s worrying that a first-person-shooter, especially a Call of Duty game with such a massive development team, has an issue that renders its weapons useless, taking away the biggest and most important aspect of the game. Read More: Modern Warfare v1.12 update patch notes – Now, Attach, and every other competitive player will have this tattooed on the back of their mind and constantly stress about potentially coming across this again during an important match with much larger implications. Only time will tell, of course, if and when this bug will be patched, because Infinity Ward haven’t exactly been the quickest to respond to community feedback about what’s wrong with their game. At the same time, this particular issue is very much an alarming one, so maybe the developers will be more swift on their feet when it comes to fixing it.

Attach makes incredible gesture for fan and drops massive CWL London roster hint – Dexerto
Attach makes incredible gesture for fan and drops massive CWL London roster hint Call of Duty star, Dillon ‘Attach’ Price, has dropped a huge clue to what team he will be representing at the upcoming CWL London tournament, and made a fantastic gesture to a fan hoping to support him there. When is CWL London? The first CWL Black Ops 4 tournament to be hosted in Europe takes place in London, England on May 3-5 and will feature a 16-team pro tournament, as well as a 128 team open bracket competition. The event will take place at the Copper Box Arena located in the Olympic Park, and pro players will battle it out to earn their share of a $375,000 prize pool. Attach pays for a fan to attend CWL London While streaming and talking to his viewers, he said he hoped to see a viewer by the name of ‘WhosBreezy’ in attendance, but his fan revealed that he wouldn’t be able to afford it. Nevertheless, Attach showed just how much he cared for his community by offering to take care of the finances. “I’ll get you to the event,” he said. “You need a ticket? I got you. Do you need a train ticket? I got you. “You’re going to the event, don’t do this bullshit ‘My bank account looking slim’ because it might be, I’m going to take care of you and you’re going to the event.” Attach drops major roster hint ahead of CWL London With FaZe Clan failing to secure a pro spot, Attach has been loaned to Evil Geniuses, who he is expected to compete for at the upcoming tournament. However, rumors have been circulating in recent weeks that Red Reserve could lose their Pro League spot completely, allowing FaZe a route back into the pro scene. Attach hinted that he may be competing under the FaZe banner at the event, by stating he hoped to see the fan rocking a FaZe jersey before quickly correcting himself. “You better be wearing a FaZe jersey – I mean an EG jersey,” Attach said, with a knowing smirk. With EG currently bottom of the CWL Pro League standings, it would be difficult for Attach to resist the urge to reunite with his former employers. It remains to be seen whether Attach will return to his parent organization, or if he will continue with his loan team, but all signs appear to point to the former.

Attach Has Provided an Update About FaZe Clan’s Call of Duty Roster Amidst RosterMania Rumors – Dexerto
Attach Has Provided an Update About FaZe Clan’s Call of Duty Roster Amidst RosterMania Rumors FaZe Clan professional Call of Duty player Dillon ‘Attach’ Price is the latest to pitch into the CoD RosterMania discussion. The former World Champion released a video on May 2nd providing an update about the FaZe roster going forward in the current CWL season. The results of the recent CWL Seattle tournament have re-sparked the frenzy of RosterMania, during which players, teams, and organizations all look to make the changes they feel will put them in a better position to succeed. This cycle of RosterMania has included rumors of massive roster changes involving the likes of FaZe, OpTic Gaming, and other big orgs and names. One rumor that has been repeated throughout claims that Attach’s FaZe teammate and Pro League Stage One Playoffs MVP Thomas ‘ZooMaa’ Paparatto was set to move to OpTic ahead of the May 7th roster lock. However, Attach has put these theories to rest as he has announced that the Stage One champions will not be making any roster changes this CWL season. “But first, let me do the hot one right here. My team, FaZe Clan, there has been a lot of rumors that ZooMaa is leaving to OpTic Gaming and there’s been a few other rumors and stuff like that. But FaZe Clan is not changing. We are not making any roster changes. The team is staying the same so, there you go, that’s been confirmed so everyone that’s in my stream, in my mentions, and on Reddit saying that we need to find a new fourth is just not right because we are sticking together. So me, Priestahh, ZooMaa, and Replays are still a team of four going into the second half of the year, Season 2, Anaheim, and Champs.” Attach’s statements were very clear and straightforward in confirming that ZooMaa will be a member of FaZe for the remainder of the current CWL season. With that now being official news, it will be interesting to keep an eye on whether the other mega rumors of RosterMania, especially regarding OpTic, also turn out not to be true.

Attach explains why they benched MajorManiak instead of Accuracy on ROKKR – Dexerto
Attach explains why they benched MajorManiak instead of Accuracy on ROKKR ActivisionMinnesota RØKKR are one of several teams that have made a roster change during Stage 2 of the 2021 Call of Duty League season. With critics hounding the decision, star player Dillon ‘Attach’ Price has spoken out about the issue. RØKKR have been arguably one of the most disappointing teams in the CDL. While they’re not at the bottom of the standings, this was a team that looked built to succeed. At the start of the season, Attach was joined by Preston ‘Priestahh’ Greiner, Michael ‘MajorManiak’ Szymaniak and Lamar ‘Accuracy’ Abedi. Analysts and fans loved the team, looking like a real potential challenger against some of the top teams. Instead, the opposite seemed to happen, despite their Opening Week win against Dallas Empire. On March 22, they announced that Eli ‘Standy’ Bentz would be replacing MajorManiak on the team. This would see him become Attach’s SMG duo, with Priestahh moving to the flex role and Accuracy staying as main AR. Many fans, though, were critical of this decision. A lot of the response has been surrounding the idea that MajorManiak shouldn’t have been dropped, and Standy should’ve come in as a replacement for Accuracy. Clearly the team disagrees, and Attach has now spoken out on why Accuracy is so important to the team. “Lamar’s actually been playing pretty well in this game,” he said. “What he brings to a team is just so helpful. Making sure the team learns and progresses, and how to have a proper system. When we get better, and we start to win a few Hardpoints, I’m sure you’ll see us get to our full potential and see players shining who you might not have expected to shine before.” Timestamp 5:03 Attach goes on to talk about what Standy’s bringing to the team, especially with how much the Challengers teams have been grinding just weeks after the game was released. In comparison to the CDL, which only launched in February, they’ve been playing Black Ops Cold War at a high level for much longer. Watch now: Why Temp HAD to be Dropped from LA Thieves Minnesota RØKKR are currently in Group B of CDL Stage 2. Prior to their first matches with Standy, the team is 0-2, with upcoming matches against OpTic Chicago, Dallas Empire, and more. Whether this change turns the team’s fortunes remains to be seen, but there remains a lot of skepticism over the decision to hold on to Accuracy instead of MajorManiak.

Attach explains why cheating is now a major issue for professional CoD – Dexerto
Attach explains why cheating is now a major issue for professional CoD YouTube: H3CZMinnesota ROKKR CoD pro Dillon ‘Attach’ Price has described competitive cheating in Black Ops Cold War as a major issue facing the professional Call of Duty scene. With the second Call of Duty League season fast approaching, players and fans have been turning their attention to how competitive Black Ops Cold War might look. One of the biggest changes the CDL has undergone during the off-season is the transition to playing on PC, as opposed to previous seasons that have been played exclusively on PS4. While players are generally still using controllers, the switch to PC has seen a significant rise in the number of players cheating – or attempting to. It has not been much of an issue at the very top levels of the esport, but Attach highlighted many players being beaten in Challengers as a result of cheating, and its repercussions for the rest of the competitive CoD scene. Speaking to H3CZ during an episode of the Eavesdrop Podcast, the ROKKR pro and Advanced Warfare world champion said: “You just don’t know who’s legit. Everyone is like the best player in the world all of a sudden… People are coming out the woodworks and are just the best in the game. And I’m sure there are a lot of legit people doing that, but there are definitely other people who are very sketchy.” While this mainly effects the online/amateur scene now, it poses a risk to even the professional level, as unknown players trying to rise through the ranks will have to contend with cheating suspicions. Or even, a cheater may trick their way into the upper levels of play. Timestamp: 26:00 “I’ve seen hundreds of clips and played a bunch of tourneys,” he continued, “and just been like ‘alright that was a little bit weird’. Then a week or two later all those players get exposed because they were hacking… that’s what really hurting the CoD scene right now. Hopefully, there can be some kinda anti-cheat, not only for us, but for the Warzone players as well.” H3CZ echoed Attach’s comments, stating the frustrations of some of the CDL organizations’ ownerships. He said that, given the significant financial investment being made by organizations, there should be an effective anti-cheat system in place, or else the competition reverts back to PlayStation where cheating is much harder. Attach then went on to highlight the Challengers scene as particularly problematic. “I feel terrible for the Challengers scene,” he said. “I’ve seen so many tweets about people who have played against cheaters early on in the tournaments and lost, and that ruins their whole year for getting pro points.” Both Attach and H3CZ’ points have been echoed by the wider CoD community, calling on a massive company like Activision to do more to protect their game from cheaters. While it was mainly affecting the casual scene in past games, the move to online competition and PC play has resulted in it spreading to the pro scene, in a way no one wants to see.

Attach reveals Black Ops 4 trick every pro player uses for “huge advantage” – Dexerto
Attach reveals Black Ops 4 trick every pro player uses for “huge advantage” Treyarch / FaZe Attach YouTubeCall of Duty pros are a good source of new tricks and tips to elevate anyone’s game in Black Ops 4, and Dylan ‘Attach’ Price showed how to best use trade secrets to lock into opponents during a match. Different iterations in the Call of Duty franchise have had their own set of mechanics that worked best during combat such as jumpshotting, drop shotting and more. In the latest version of the legendary FPS series, Attach zeroed-in on the best way to get an edge over the competition by breaking down how to properly use Crack Aim and Slice Cancelling together. Crack down on your aim In his latest YouTube video, the Black Ops 4 pro took his viewers through the tactics that “literally every professional player, every top player, every aspiring player on the come-up” knows to use. Crack Aim requires players to spam their ADS instead of holding it down when looking for an opponent. The reason this works better is because crack aiming gives players a better chance of hitting their target over pre-aiming since fights are more sped up than in other shooters. “Crack aiming is a lot better than pre-aiming,” Attach explained. “Pre-aiming is what you used to do in all other old Call of Duty’s… In this game, [pre-aiming] is not what you’d want to do at all… It feels like [crack aiming] resets your auto aim, and your shots are always on point when you’re crack aiming.” The CoD pro then took it up a notch by explaining how Slide Cancelling can be put to use to create “the most effective movement in Black Ops 4.” Slide into firefights To pull off the mechanic, simply running then slide but aim down the sights to pop up. The aim will cancel out the slide and give the player a slight aim advantage especially when coupling with head glitching. “[Slide canceling] is even crazier when you do it on a head glitch,” he said. “[When you] crack aim, slide cancel to a head glitch, people don’t even see you. All [opponents] see is the tip of your head, but by that time you already have two or three bullets off on them.” Players will want to cancel their slides sooner rather than later to get the full effect, but these strats are Attach’s tried and true methods to improving in Black Ops 4.

Atlanta FaZe’s Simp shows off best QBZ loadout in Black Ops Cold War – Dexerto
Atlanta FaZe’s Simp shows off best QBZ loadout in Black Ops Cold War ActivisionThe QBZ-83 assault rifle looks set to make a mark on the Black Ops Cold War meta, and Atlanta FaZe CDL star Chris ‘Simp’ Lehr has put together the perfect loadout for it. With pros looking to push the XM4 out of the Cold War meta, a number of different weapons have been tested and the QBZ looks like it could become a real problem on the map. It has a decent rate of fire and mobility, and can really pack a punch at almost any range, the definition of a ‘do-it-all’ assault rifle. Whether or not it becomes a regular in the elite level of competition remains to be seen, but it’s definitely a weapon worth utilizing in your arsenal at some point. Simp’s Cold War QBZ-83 class Whether you’re trying to dominate League Play or simply drop nukes in public matches, Simp has it covered. Here’s how he decks out his QBZ-83 in Cold War: Optic: Microflex LED – Muzzle: Infantry Compensator – Barrel: 16.5” Ranger – Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip – Magazine: 40 Rnd Drum – Handle: Airborne Elastic Wrap – Stock: Raider Stock – Obviously, you’ll have to use the Gunfighter wildcard to take advantage of all of these attachments, but the rest of the loadout comes down to personal preference. Read More: The most complete CoD player since Scump? – Simp opts for a Diamatti pistol as his secondary weapon, utilizing the Tactical Mask, Scavenger, and Ninja perks. He also carries a Flashbang, Semtex, and Trophy System for his equipment. So if you’re looking to give the QBZ a run-out and expand your horizons a little, this is just about as good as it gets. As perhaps the best player in the Call of Duty League right now, you know Simp is well worth copying.

Atlanta FaZe’s aBeZy reveals his true CDL dream team – Dexerto
Atlanta FaZe’s aBeZy reveals his true CDL dream team ActivisionTyler ‘aBeZy’ Pharris has become one of the hottest prospects in the Call of Duty League, already taking down his opponents with ease across multiple seasons, and the future looks incredibly bright. But who would he have on his CDL dream team? For the most part, aBeZy is looked at by many fans and most of his peers as a dream team-esque player. He and Chris ‘Simp’ Lehr have become the most formidable duo in the CDL bar none, tearing teams apart with ease and rarely looking out of shape. Atlanta FaZe have dominated the CDL since its inception, especially during this 2021 Black Ops Cold War season, and this squad looks, on paper, to be the definition of a perfect CoD team. But who would aBeZy want to team with if not his current teammates? ABeZy’s CDL dream team Picking out a team without including his current teammates must be a tough task, considering they’re each, individually, one of the very best in their role. Read More: New York Home Series: Team of the Week & MVP – But, of course, the talent isn’t all contained in one team, and there are some truly breathtaking players across the league. Names who set themselves apart from their peers and truly become the best of the best. Here’s the three teammates aBeZy said he would want to team up with: SMG duo: Anthony ‘Shotzzy’ Cuevas-Castro (Dallas Empire) – Flex/AR: Brandon ‘Dashy’ Otell (OpTic Chicago) – Main AR: Sam ‘Octane’ Larew (Seattle Surge) – Timestamp 3:15 It’s fair to say that, for any player building their Call of Duty ‘God Squad’, this is almost exactly how it would look. Octane hasn’t seen much success on Seattle Surge, but has remained one of the most dominant ARs in the game. Similarly, Dashy often showcases the ability to be a real world-beater, while Shotzzy was the 2020 CDL MVP and would make an absolutely terrifying duo alongside aBeZy. The question is, how would this team compare to the rest? On paper, it could end up the very best team in the CDL by far, but as we’ve seen with the likes of Seattle Surge and OpTic Chicago, that isn’t always the case.

A handful of competitors recorded their own perspectives throughout the event. However, FaZe hooked it up with a number of dedicated streams to keep on top of all the action. There were four streams in total but it all boiled down to the main ATL FaZe channel for the final day. Teams that competed in the Black Ops 4 Throwback Invitational It’s safe to say this event was one of the most stacked we’ll see in the off-season. Six CDL teams put rosters forward for the tournament. They were joined by an assortment of top talent coming from Challengers, along with eight teams that earned a spot through the open qualifiers. Not only was this a step back in time, but it was also a unique look ahead. Unlike the best-of-3 format for the group stage, teams played best-of-5 matches in the Winners and Losers Brackets. $25,000 was on offer. Only three teams could actually place in the money though. $15,000 was awarded to the top team, second place was treated to $7,500, while third place nabbed $2,500 for their efforts. In the group stages, the CDL’s final three teams, the Atlanta FaZe, Chicago Huntsmen, and Dallas Empire all finished 3-0 with the Huntsmen being the only team to drop a map. Unsurprisingly, McArthur ‘Cellium’ Jovel proved his MVP candidacy is not limited to Modern Warfare, as he pulled off some absurd plays in the group stage. But this time, it wasn’t FaZe’s Cellium making the most noise. Instead, the Empire prove they only need a few of their pieces to make things happen as iLLeY put the team on his back, surviving Scump’s shots and finishing the round off with a slick five-piece. The team of amateurs easily out-dueled an impressive Four Horsemen roster before meeting the CDL’s darling franchise, the Chicago Huntsmen, in the Losers Semifinal. There, they eked out the revamped roster with a clutch 3-2 victory (including some nice SND plays from Estreal). Unfortunately, the HYXR Cinderella run would end in the next round, as the Dallas Empire, fresh off a loss to FaZe in the Winners Bracket, clinched a return to contention in another close, 3-2 match. That left the BO4 Throwback Invitational with a matchup most recently familiar at CDL Champs: Atlanta vs. Dallas in a best-of-7. Things started with a blitz from Empire as they secured the first two map wins without much of a hassle. While the third map seemed to be much of the same, FaZe pulled it back from the brink of defeat before setting the tone for the series as a whole. Enormous IQ plays coming out from @Huke as he clutches up for the 1v2 🧠@DallasEmpire is looking to keep the momentum rolling as they’re up two maps over @ATLFaZe already! 📺https://t.co/fbq4XmyB2g pic.twitter.com/mr2aGkltja — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) October 26, 2020 The FaZe roster took hold of the series and didn’t let go. They won four maps in a row to end things with a bang and win their org’s very own throwback tournament.

Grand Final highlights & recap It was all FaZe over the first three maps, which started with a dominant victory on Moscow Hardpoint before, followed by a pair of wins on S&D and Control. The Garrison Control win was especially impressive, considering how hard it is for teams to win on offense, but Atlanta broke through with a perfect synchronized attack. Going back to their Winners Final sweep, @ATLFaZe now have SIX map wins in a row vs @DallasEmpire 😮 Tough to imagine Empire ever getting dominated like this in a single day.#EZAF | #CDL2021 pic.twitter.com/7EdplD0kc3 — Dexerto Esports (@DexertoEsports) March 8, 2021 Empire finally got on the board with a dominant Hardpoint of their own – 250-104 on Checkmate – but they were unable to replicate that level of play in the following S&D, which FaZe cleaned up with a 6-1 demolishing. Dallas survived to see another map after taking Raid Control 3-0, looking as though they might creep back into the series. Unfortunately, the following map was another S&D, a mode that Atlanta has only lost once so far this season. https://twitter.com/CODLeague/status/1368729357594791939 As expected, the boys in red took care of business in one-sided fashion, taking the Raid Search 6-2 to close out the Grand Final and secure themselves a Major victory. CDL Stage 1 Major: Results, recaps, bracket & highlights Here is the finalized bracket for the Major; where each team started in the bracket depended on where they finished in their Stage 1 group. Match 1: Ultra eliminate Royal Ravens in five-match thriller Despite facing the odds after a family emergency to Alexx forced them to sign veteran player Zed literally last minute, the Royal Ravens somehow pushed the Ultra to a game five, where they ultimately fell short. The loss eliminated London in last-place, as their losing streak ballooned to six while Toronto snapped their own skid at four losses. Match 2: Mutineers end strong to knock out Surge The second of two elimination matches saw Florida Mutineers book their ticket to the next round after taking care of business against the Seattle Surge. Match 4: Ultra edge out RØKKR in tight five-map series Toronto Ultra survived elimination for a second straight day after defeating Minnesota RØKKR in an intense five-game series. Ultra had to make a comeback to secure survival, winning the final two maps, including a convincing 6-1 game five S&D to send the RØKKR packing. Match 1: FaZe secure T3 after dismantling Guerrillas The only unbeaten team in the league maintained their perfect record as Atlanta FaZe swept the LA Guerrillas to advance to the Winners Bracket final and secure a top-three placement. But NYSL showed resiliency and turned things around midway through the Control, not looking back on their way to just the second reverse sweep of 2021. The loss eliminated Florida at 7/8th place. Match 4: Thieves end recent struggles with relentless sweep of Ultra Thieves came into their match vs Ultra on a six-map losing streak, having been swept by Guerrillas in the first round of the Winners Bracket. Atlanta FaZe star Priestahh ranks top 5 pro teams in Modern Warfare – Dexerto
Atlanta FaZe star Priestahh ranks top 5 pro teams in Modern Warfare 100 Thieves (YouTube)Atlanta FaZe Call of Duty League team star Preston ‘Priestahh’ Griener has revealed who he believes to be the top five teams in Modern Warfare ahead of the opening event in Minneapolis, Minnesota. There have been hotly-contested debates regarding which team is the best since the game released in October 2019. Chicago Huntsmen were tipped to be the team to beat with the raw firepower on the squad, but Dallas Empire were dominant in online tournament in the opening few weeks. While at first, it seemed that Dallas were the undisputed number one, Priestahh has given an alternative top five, suggesting that some teams might have started to catch up with the Envy-owned team. When a viewer in Twitch chat asked Priestahh who he believes the top five teams are, he started off fairly quickly saying “Us [Atlanta], Dallas, Chicago…” before a few moments where he couldn’t quite decide. Perhaps this is because the next few teams are so close in terms of skill, or because they’re so far off where his top three are, but after looking a little stumped for a couple of seconds he named his fourth and fifth respectively. “Minnesota… and New York,” he said, but without sounding too convinced that they were the correct teams. Priestahh did go on to say that there are some teams they haven’t really scrimmed yet, such as London Royal Ravens, LA Guerillas or Toronto Ultra, so he may not be up to date with how good they are, and where they rank in terms of other squads. While ranking his own team at number one might seem a bit of an obvious choice as competitors won’t want to rank other teams above them, he’s not the only pro player that believes Atlanta is the best team in Modern Warfare right now. On January 6, Seattle Surge’s Josiah ‘Slacked’ Berry tweeted out saying “ATL FaZe is the best team in MW and it’s not even close,” a sentiment echoed in the replies by top Call of Duty caster Clint ‘Maven’ Evans who called the team “absurd”. I am spectating their scrim vs Florida rn. Ya…they’re absurd lol — Clint “”Maven”” Evans (@Maven) January 6, 2020 There’s no way to know for sure which teams are the best until the events start playing out, but it looks like Dallas’ initial dominance in the game is going to be heavily challenged by the young stars on Atlanta FaZe. The first event of the Modern Warfare Call of Duty League season takes place in Minneapolis, Minnesota from January 24-26 at the Minneapolis Armory.

Atlanta FaZe sign SlasheR as Arcitys replacement on CDL roster – Dexerto
Atlanta FaZe sign SlasheR as Arcitys replacement on CDL roster Call of Duty LeagueThe Atlanta FaZe are adding Austin ‘SlasheR’ Liddicoat to their team as a direct replacement for the recently-departed Alec ‘Arcitys’ Sanderson. Prior to the start of the 2023 season on August 22, Arcitys revealed that he was a restricted free agent, in a move that very few in the Call of Duty community saw coming. Dexerto reported shortly afterward that LA Guerrillas were signing Arcitys, with CDL Intel stating that it was a “huge” buyout and slotting him alongside Kris ‘Spart’ Cervantez, Cuyler ‘Huke’ Garland, and Travis ‘Neptune’ McCloud. On August 24, The Guerillas confirmed Arcitys and Spart joining LA on unprecedented 3-year contracts. As to why he chose LA, Arcitys said, “the potential and the amount of love they showed me in such little time shows how much they wanted me. “they have passion; they were a unit, a team, something I can just fill in and do my thing.” Many were unsure who would come in as a replacement for Arcitys, especially with rumors abounding that the move was initially made due to McArthur ‘Cellium’ Jovel’s desire to play main AR. Atlanta FaZe sign Slasher The Atlanta FaZe have found its man for the job. Sources initially told Dexerto that FaZe is close to signing SlasheR, and now Atlanta has confirmed the suspicions. SlasheR joins, carrying a reputation as one of the most dominant main ARs in Call of Duty history. Atlanta FaZe posted a montage of some of SlasheR’s best moments to seal the news. The video confirmed that SlasheR will be the team’s main AR for Modern Warfare 2. SlasheR most recently played for the LA Guerrillas, with whom he won the Major 2 championship. The team lost some steam as the season went on and failed to qualify for the World Championship event. He brings with him a wealth of experience, having competed at a pro level since 2014 and won eight major trophies, including one world championship. He’s a vocal leader and someone that has been known to build strong rosters and get the best out of his team over recent years. Sources noted that SlasheR wasn’t FaZe’s first choice to replace Arcitys, with talks ongoing since the end of the season, though teams have been cautious about selling their best players, especially to a team that’s already thick in dynasty talk.

Atlanta FaZe players attacked in airsoft drive-by shooting during CDL Major 4 – Dexerto
Atlanta FaZe players attacked in airsoft drive-by shooting during CDL Major 4 Atlanta FaZeSeveral Atlanta FaZe players were attacked in a drive-by as multiple men pulled up and shot them with airsoft guns during CDL Major 4. Going into CDL Major 4, the Atlanta FaZe was considered by many as one of the frontrunners to win the tournament. After beating Seattle Surge in the Winners Round 1, FaZe fell to LA Thieves in the Winners Round 2. This was followed by wins in Elimination Rounds 3 and 4 but Optic would ultimately best Atlanta to play Thieves in the Winners Final. Whilst the action on stage should have been the focus, it’s the bizarre airsoft drive-by that went down outside the venue that has the CDL community talking. Atlanta FaZe team hit in airsoft drive-by returning to the team’s hotel During a Twitch stream on April 25, Atlanta FaZe player aBezy described the events resulting in him and his teammates being shot in an airsoft drive-by attack. Recalling the moments leading up to the drive-by, aBezy said: “We had a team dinner and were walking back from the restaurant. I think me, Austin, and Crowder were walking ahead of everyone. We were on the sidewalk pretty close to the hotel and these guys pulled up in a car and screamed.” The FaZe player continued: “I turned around and it looked like they had a gun pointing out of the window, but it was an airsoft gun or a Nerf gun or something. They all shot us but thankfully we had our hoodies up so it didn’t really hurt. It just felt like something had tapped the back of my sweatshirt.” Airsoft guns are designed to be replica weapons and often look very realistic. Instead of firing live ammo, they use airsoft pellets, small balls typically made of plastic. Although not lethal, airsoft pellets can be dangerous and have been known to cause blindness.

Atlanta FaZe head to CDL Champs 2022 with new chip on their shoulders – Dexerto
Atlanta FaZe head to CDL Champs 2022 with new chip on their shoulders Twitter: ATLFaZeThe Atlanta FaZe may have failed to win a single LAN event this Call of Duty League season, but – with pressure at its highest – they’re still the favorites at CDL Champs 2022. “I think we had them kind of scrambled. That’s the thing about Atlanta FaZe, if you get them out of their groove, they’re a pretty beatable team.” As Kenny ‘Kenny’ Williams suggested after his LA Thieves eliminated Atlanta at Major IV, this year’s FaZe aren’t quite as invulnerable as the 2021 unit that went 34-7, won three Majors, and went 4-0 to win Champs. Maybe the rest of the league has improved, maybe Vanguard isn’t their best game – whatever the case may be, this FaZe club has vulnerabilities. Still, Kenny recognized that a lowered floor doesn’t mean a lowered ceiling: “When they’re in their groove, they look dominant.” FaZe secured top three at all four LAN Majors, have an MVP frontrunner in McArthur ‘Cellium’ Jovel, and are still the top seed going into Champs. The team has looked dominant this year, despite the negative narratives surrounding their failure to win a tournament, and they seem eager to silence the chatter. Drowning out the noise “Last year, we had fun every day getting on. This year, you have those days like, ‘What the f**k, why am I playing right now?’ Because sometimes, there are some days when you’re like, ‘I can’t get better.’” As the bearer of FaZe’s lowest K/D (0.96), Alec ‘Arcitys’ Sanderson has borne the brunt of the criticism for FaZe’s unmet expectations, and he transparently acknowledged this season’s struggles. Conversely, when asked about the slander directed at his teammate, Chris ‘Simp’ Lehr refused to lend this criticism any credence: “I feel like Alec has just been the scapegoat because we’re a dynasty-caliber team and when we’re not winning, people just pick someone to blame and they just look at numbers. People don’t understand what he brings to the team … We always remind him how nasty he is, how much he actually brings.” FaZe coach James ‘Crowder’ Crowder echoed Simp, emphatically dismissing his AR’s detractors: “All the criticism that [Arcitys] gets is just, to be honest with you, people not knowing what the f**k they’re talking about. “This team was built to be a very top team … and when you have players slaying the way they do, the routes that get taken on the map, and the positions that you’re in, are how you get kills. And he sets up a lot of people to get kills and no one knows what the f**k they’re talking about when they talk about him.” While rebuking social media’s Arcitys takes, FaZe’s principal focus is going back-to-back at CDL Champs. To do so, the team will rely on the continued excellence of McArthur ‘Cellium’ Jovel. Cellium: “The perfect teammate” Although Atlanta haven’t won a LAN and numbers don’t paint the full picture, Cell has rattled off an absurd season, posting a 1.22 Overall K/D, a 1.25 Hardpoint K/D, and a 1.20 S&D K/D – all league highs. When asked about their flex’s MVP form, Arcitys enthusiastically described what the statistics can’t: “All year he’s been MVP. Ever since I teamed with the kid, he’s taught me things… and I’ve been playing longer than him. His composure, his teamwork, everything about him is just on point. He gets gassed for how good he is, but he doesn’t get gassed for how good of a teammate he is. And people can’t see that just because everyone just thinks in listen-ins we have terrible comms, but for us, that’s perfect comms from him. He’s just the perfect teammate.” As for how good Cell is individually, Simp described the flex’s presence on the map: “He’s a player that, if he gets into a position, he’ll get you at least five kills – minimum. And I feel like when he’s not on one of those god headies, he still has a 95% chance of killing the guy … He’s disgusting.” CDL Champs 2022 Last season, FaZe won a league-leading 83% of their matches heading into Champs. This season, that percentage has gone down to 68% but remains the league’s highest. That lowered success could have hindered morale, especially for a team on the precipice of achieving dynasty status, but Crowder has a simple explanation for why it hasn’t: “They’re all close friends. It’s very rare that you see a team as good as these guys also really get along.” When it comes to Champs, the 2021 winners will have their work cut out for them in Winners Round 1 against the red-hot New York Subliners. FaZe may not have won a LAN event all year, but – as Simp explained before beating OpTic for the first time all season during Major IV – “those matches don’t change this next one.”

UMG FaZe decimated the Subliners, beating them 6-0 6-2 in the final. CMG While it might not be as sweet as a CDL Championship, FaZe will likely be happy to prove that they are the team to beat in Call of Duty once more. Now, the question becomes this: Is this dynasty-in-waiting about to dominate the Vanguard season like they did in Cold War? Details for the 2022 CDL season have not yet been announced, but no matter how it looks, you can guarantee all teams will be looking to beat Atlanta FaZe.

Atlanta FaZe deny accusations of using “broken” sound setting during CDL dominance – Dexerto
Atlanta FaZe deny accusations of using “broken” sound setting during CDL dominance Call of Duty LeagueThe Atlanta FaZe Call of Duty League team has denied using the Loudness Equalization setting to improve their performances, with accusations dating as far back as the Black Ops Cold War season, in which they became world champions. In Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, many players have been abusing the Loudness Equalization setting that lets you as good as hear enemies across the map, giving far more audio cues than is standard. For Modern Warfare 2, the CDL pros collectively agreed that Loudness EQ shouldn’t be allowed, and so have sworn not to use it, though with no way of knowing, there have been plenty of accusations throughout the season that certain teams are abusing it to their advantage. While the FaZe team have been vehemently against the use of sound equalization settings, and called out other teams for using it, they have now been accused of using the setting dating back years, by Toronto Ultra’s rookie star Charlie ‘Hicksy’ Hicks. In his appearance on the Merk and Maven podcast, Hicksy spoke about the controversial setting and its use in pro Call of Duty, saying: “I heard about it in Cold War. I think FaZe were the first team that had it. I remember in Vanguard, the rest of the Toronto boys were using it and said they got it from FaZe in Cold War. It was never that good, it never worked as good in Cold War or Vanguard.” Timestamp 1:00:43 Once the clip started to pop up on social media, the FaZe boys were quick to deny any accusations, claiming that they didn’t even know it existed until after Major 1 of this current season. “Well that’s a blatant lie,” said Tyler ‘aBeZy’ Pharris, responding to the clip in a Reddit post. “We didn’t even know EQ was a thing until this game … Nicky D [Classic, FaZe substitute] was the first one to tell us about it.” ABeZy’s Tiny Terrors duo, Chris ‘Simp’ Lehr, was bewildered by the accusation, simply saying “Excuse me” when Alec ‘Arcitys’ Sanderson tagged him in a tweet regarding it. Evidently, the FaZe players deny it completely, but it’s impossible to tell which teams have used it, especially in older games. Realistically, the only way teams will completely stop using Loudness Equalization is if the setting is removed from Windows PCs completely, or if the League itself implements a ban and random PC checks.

Atlanta FaZe could be Call of Duty League favorites after crazy scrim run – Dexerto
Atlanta FaZe could be Call of Duty League favorites after crazy scrim run Twitter: ATLFaZe / Infinity WardAs the best Call of Duty teams in the world gear up for the start of a new era in competition, Atlanta FaZe may have emerged as the strongest lineup ahead of the opening event on January 24. Players have been grinding Modern Warfare since its release in October, 2019 as franchises prepare for a brand new year of competition under the new CDL structure. Before the 12 star-studded rosters descend on Minnesota for the opening weekend of action, however, teams are hard at work practicing on a daily basis to refine their skills and nail down various strategies. Atlanta FaZe appear to have separated themselves from the pack, with members of the Call of Duty community heaping praise on the team of young-guns after an extraordinary scrim record was revealed on January 15. Introducing your Atlanta FaZe for the 2020 CDL Season@aBeZy @SimpXO @Cellium @majormaniak @Priestahh #EZAF pic.twitter.com/c3HJgiD2vq — Atlanta FaZe (@ATLFaZe) October 26, 2019 Set to kick off on January 24 in Minnesota, the first slate of CDL matchups feature the likes of the Chicago Huntsmen and hometown heroes Minnesota RØKKR. The very next day will serve as the first test for the Atlanta FaZe squad though, as they square off against the Dallas Empire to round out the second day of competition. Revealing information about recent scrims, analyst Anthony ‘NAMELESS’ Wheeler shared that the Atlanta-based franchise could be a force to be reckoned with by the time they take to the stage next weekend. “Atlanta FaZe went on a 52 map win streak in scrims then lost 1 map, then went on a 42 map win streak. What the f***” he outlined in a January 15 tweet, which set off plenty of conversation in the community. .@ATLFaZe went on a 52 MAP WIN STREAK in scrims then LOST 1 MAP then went on a 42 MAP WIN STREAK WHAT THE FK — Anthony Wheeler (@NAMELESS) January 15, 2020 According to 2019 Champs MVP and starting member on the ATL roster, Chris ‘Simp’ Lehr, these consecutive streaks took place “right before new years.” Confirming the validity of the statement, Simp highlighted how the map wins were, in fact, accurate and that the team did tally a record of 94 map wins with only a single loss along the way. While obviously an extraordinary accomplishment, various players were quick to chime in and raise their eyebrows at the post. Justin ‘SiLLY’ Fargo-Palmer of the Minnesota RØKKR indicated that they have taken a few map wins against the FaZe roster following their 2019 streaks, for instance. Additionally, James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks added that the team in focus hadn’t quite been practicing against all of the top squads. “Wonder why,” he joked, hinting that Dallas Empire hasn’t had a chance to scrim them recently. Dallas last played Atlanta at the start of the scrim cycle. Once brothers under the eUnited banners throughout a successful 2019 run that saw them crowned world champions, Clayster and Simp will be duking it out in the very first weekend of action in the Call of Duty League. Whether the grizzled veterans of the Empire or the young blood of FaZe stand tall at the end of the series is yet to be seen, but with a record so dominant throughout practice, it’s sure to be a fascinating matchup to start the season.

Atlanta FaZe CoD team announces star roster featuring Champs MVP Simp – Dexerto
Atlanta FaZe CoD team announces star roster featuring Champs MVP Simp The Atlanta FaZe have announced their roster for the upcoming 2020 Call of Duty League, led by reigning World Championship MVP Chris ‘Simp’ Lehr. The legacy of FaZe Clan is alive and well as they announced their roster for the first season of the Call of Duty League. The Atlanta Call of Duty organization also officially revealed their branding and team name, Atlanta FaZe. ATLANTA FAZE CALL OF DUTY ROSTER: Chris ‘Simp’ Lehr – Tyler ‘aBeZy’ Pharris – McArthur ‘Cellium’ Jovel – Michael ‘MajorManiak’ Szymaniak – Preston ‘Priestahh’ Greiner – Introducing your Atlanta FaZe for the 2020 CDL Season@aBeZy @SimpXO @Cellium @majormaniak @Priestahh #EZAF pic.twitter.com/c3HJgiD2vq — Atlanta FaZe (@ATLFaZe) October 26, 2019 FaZe Clan are building around young star in Simp. Simp joined eUnited in March of 2019, replacing former World Champion and veteran Jordan ‘JKap’ Kaplan. Simp was instrumental for eUnited, as his SMG play paved the way to a top finish in the CWL Pro League, and MVP honors during eUnited’s championship run. Simp is joined by eUnited teammate and fellow World Champion ABeZy, who flourished after Simp joined the team and revitalized the roster. Joining them is a familiar face in McArthur ‘Cellium’ Jovel, a young talent who will remain with FaZe and has over year’s experience playing alongside Simp when they were on the eUnited Cadets together. Rounding out the young core is some veteran presence in Michael ‘MajorManiak’ Szymaniak, and another familiar sight for FaZe fans, Preston ‘Priestahh’ Greiner. Priestahh spent two years in FaZe and played well overall during the World War II days. After struggling initially in Black Ops 4, he proved to be instrumental to 100 Thieves when he was loaned out to them, and helped them win CWL Anaheim, win CWL London, and make a grand finals run at World Champs before they fell to Simp and aBeZy and eUnited. MajorManiak was pivotal to the success of Gen.G as well. During the 2019 campaign he helped the team appear in the grand finals of CWL Anaheim and the Pro League playoffs. In both instances, he ended up losing to future teammates, falling to Priestahh and Faze in Anaheim, and Simp/aBeZy and eUnited in the Playoffs. Atlanta FaZe coach reveals Vanguard Automaton loadout Arcitys & Cellium use in Ranked – Dexerto
Atlanta FaZe coach reveals Vanguard Automaton loadout Arcitys & Cellium use in Ranked Activision / CDLAtlanta FaZe coach James ‘Crowder’ Crowder has shown fans the exact Automaton loadout that Alec ‘Arcitys’ Sanderson and McArthur ‘Cellium’ Jovel are using to dominate Ranked Play. The Call of Duty League was run by Atlanta FaZe last year, and thus far in Vanguard, the squad has been doing the same. With Vanguard Ranked dropping, players around the world have been scrambling to find the best assault rifle loadout to climb the ladder. What better spot to check than the FaZe camp itself. Luckily for the community, FaZe’s head coach Crowder has revealed the Automaton loadout that Arcitys and Cellium use. Automaton Ranked loadout used by Arcitys and Cellium If you are just looking for the exact attachments that the AR duo uses on their Automaton then check below. Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer – Barrel: Anastasia Sniper – Optic: Slate Reflector – Stock: ZAC Skeletal – Underbarrel: m1941 Hand Stop – Ammo Type: FMJ Rounds – Rear Grip: Fabric Grip – Proficiency: Tight Grip – Kit: On-Hand – With CDL rules and Gentlemen Agreements (GA’s) being in play for ranked, you will notice that some attachments might be different than normal multiplayer. Due to this, there is no Magazine attachment that the pros use on the AR. The big changes here are ZAC Skeletal and Fabric Grip as these two attachments increase recoil control and ADS speed. Most weapons in Vanguard have insanely fast TTKs so having that extra millisecond of ADS could mean life or death as an assault rifle player. In a YouTube video, Crowder breaks down which perks to run, which are the standard Survival Training or Fortified, Radar, Double Time. And of course Ninja for Search and Destroy. Cellium currently has the highest K/D of all pros in Vanguard, so if you have been looking for an Automaton class, then this is definitely the one you will want to use.

Atlanta FaZe coach Crowder slams Dallas Empire “onliner” criticism – Dexerto
Atlanta FaZe coach Crowder slams Dallas Empire “onliner” criticism Dallas Empire / MLGAtlanta FaZe’s head coach James ‘Crowder’ Crowder has slammed critics of CDL Chicago grand final opponent Dallas Empire, defending them from fans calling the team “onliners.” Due to the outbreak of the ongoing health crisis, the Call of Duty League has had to shift to an online format, abandoning the LAN events that were supposed to be spread throughout the year. Of course, moving online brings a new host of issues for the league and teams in it, but one of the most common seems to be how fans weigh online wins against LAN wins. After criticism of Dallas Empire as an “online” team, Crowder has explained why this is such a bad take. Dallas Empire beat Atlanta FaZe 3-1 in the grand final of CDL Chicago, becoming only the second team to beat Atlanta after Minnesota ROKKR and also taking down Chicago Huntsmen in their semi-final matchup. Crowder tweeted out after the series finished that Dallas exhibited “incredible play and teamwork” and called them the “best team in the game,” which is high praise considering it’s something more often said about Atlanta themselves. Despite this, someone came back and called Dallas the “best online team” – which Crowder didn’t take kindly to, saying it’s “such a sh**ty take” and to “give credit when it’s due.” Such a shitty take. They won an event on LAN already. Give credit when it’s due. — FaZe Crowder (@JamesCrowder) April 27, 2020 Although Crowder was happy to heap praise on Dallas for their continued top performances and placements, some Atlanta fans didn’t agree with what he was saying. Twitter user ImDepend told the coach that “you guys have smoked them on LAN” and added that, despite beating two of the top teams, he doesn’t believe they can be the best team in the game “just because of one online tournament win.” Chris you guys have smoked them on LAN, they beat two of the best teams in the game online, i mean yea they won but i still dont think their the best in the game just because of 1 online tournament win. — Depend (@ImDependYT) April 27, 2020 Whether or not Dallas Empire are the best team in the game will continue to be a subjective issue until more events are held, but for now, Crowder’s voice is one that is definitely worth listening to when it comes to Call of Duty. Watch: Why Nadeshot was Call of Duty’s most underrated champion Fans won’t have to wait too long to see more CoD action, with CDL Florida taking place May 8-10, though Dallas won’t be in attendance to defend their crown – they’ll have to wait until CDL Minnesota on June 6-8.

Atlanta FaZe CDL 2021 preview: a championship-caliber reunion? – Dexerto
Atlanta FaZe CDL 2021 preview: a championship-caliber reunion? Atlanta FaZeAtlanta FaZe has been eyed as one of the teams to beat heading into the 2021 Call of Duty League season. But coming off a second-place finish in 2020, with Alec ‘Arcitys’ Sanderson now back in the mix, will they be able to live up to the hype and cement themselves as the top team? Throughout the Modern Warfare cycle, FaZe proved to be one of the most formidable forces in the league. Never falling out of the top four across every Home Series in 2020, consistency was one of their strongest factors. While other teams had their highs and lows throughout the year, FaZe remained atop the pack from the Launch Weekend in January, through to the Championship Grand Finals in August. Having signed Arcitys in the offseason, three of the four players on the revamped lineup have won a championship together. Could this be the year they do it again and make history as some of the youngest players to ever win two rings? Atlanta FaZe CDL 2021 roster Three eUnited champions back together With the switch back to 4v4 competition, FaZe made some big changes ahead of Black Ops Cold War. Michael ‘MajorManiak’ Szymaniak and Preston ‘Priestahh’ Greiner were both let go to make way for Arcitys. After a year with the Huntsmen, he’s now in the lobby with Simp and aBeZy once again. Together, this trio helped dominate the tail end of 2019 under the eUnited banners. They tore through all opposition in the final months of Black Ops 4, securing first place at the CWL Pro League Playoffs along with CWL Champs the following month. If the CDL never came into effect, and competition remained under the 5v5 format, there’s a chance that golden eUnited roster could still be leading the charge today. Three pieces from that winning formula are now back and ready to run it up with Cellium. The duo of Simp and Abezy, nicknamed the Tiny Terrors, haven’t missed a beat. They’re still capable of extraordinary highlights on any given map and can never be taken lightly. Meanwhile, Arcitys is often praised as one of the standout AR players in the league overall. With 20-year-old Cellium keeping the killfeed red for FaZe, this could be the most aggressive lineup we see in 2021. The Kickoff Classic doesn’t spell doom for Atlanta With all the momentum behind them, FaZe didn’t quite start the year with a bang. Their very first series together saw them toppled by the Florida Mutineers. Despite being a lackluster way to kick things off, it could be just what the team needed. “It was a good wake up call,” head coach James ‘Crowder’ Replays said on a January 27 episode of Hardpoints. “In hindsight, it doesn’t mean much. But, it’s a good wake up call. While maps were close and the series went to a game five, every aspect of the series was a letdown, according to Crowder. “We played terribly from start to finish.” In light of this performance, it’s already led to a “culture shift” within the team. They’re practicing differently, approaching scrims with a new mentality, and generally on a better path than they were prior to the Kickoff Classic. It may have looked disappointing at first, but Crowder is “super excited that [they] lost,” as they’re now on the right track to succeed in the real opening matchups. The relevant topic begins at the 40:30 mark below. Lumped into Group B alongside heavy hitters in OpTic Chicago and the Mutineers, it’s not going to be an easy start by any stretch. But with the firepower on their side, FaZe should be able to come out swinging. Read More: CDL Opening Weekend Schedule – If they’re not winning a series outright, rest assured every matchup should be close at the very least. Many of their competitors have sized them up as one of the top teams for the year ahead and if they rebound from the Kickoff Classic, there’s no reason they can’t close out 2021 as champions.

Atlanta FaZe “blacklisted” from CDL scrims over new GA rules – Dexerto
Atlanta FaZe “blacklisted” from CDL scrims over new GA rules CDL[jwplayer mCpsAxNx] With just days before the Call of Duty League shifts to The Big Apple for the CDL New York Home Series, Atlanta FaZe claim they’ve been blacklisted from scrimmage practices due to their supposed failure to comply with the new Gentlemen’s Agreements. It appears that the Call of Duty League’s best team, at least according to the current standings, won’t be able to get in proper practice before the New York Home Series kicks off this weekend. On July 8, FaZe star Tyler ‘aBeZy’ Pharris wrote in a now-deleted tweet that the rest of the CDL had “blacklisted” them from scrims and teams said they would be “using everything” against them at CDL NY. Read More: 6 players to watch at CDL New York – “We’ve been grinding and practicing with the AUG for 2/3 days and then when we don’t agree to a GA two days before an event, they try to blacklist us and say they are using everything against us this weekend,” he tweeted. “It’s going to be a fun weekend so everyone get your popcorn.” It might not be all 11 other teams who are blacklisting them, however, as FaZe assistant coach Austin ‘Easy Mac’ O’Neil said that only eight were refusing to practice against them. Well at least we’ve only blacklisted by 8 teams 😃 Gonna be a fun weekend — AO (@Its_EasyMac) July 8, 2020 What’s this all about? The issue is over the AUG SMG, a weapon that was nowhere near the competitive Modern Warfare meta for much of the game’s life cycle but was suddenly thrust into the spotlight following the recent nerfs to the MP5. CDL teams moved quickly to GA (unofficially ban) the weapon amongst themselves over the past few days, and because of the rules surrounding that process, those who are against restricting the gun have no choice but to go along with it, even if the league itself isn’t enforcing it. According to Dallas Empire veteran Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter, the GA process is determined by a vote including all of the team captains, and the result is applied to everyone. Those who refuse to comply are put in a similar situation to Atlanta’s: “no practice for you until you agree. No team scrims and no 10s.” Fastest kill ive gotten in a while LMAOOhttps://t.co/81VMFguSUl pic.twitter.com/R28dp8bF84 — Priestahh (@Priestahh) July 6, 2020 As things stand, it’s not clear yet whether FaZe will ultimately decide to go along with the ban on the AUG. But if they don’t, and what aBeZy said about other teams using “everything” against them is true, it could make for some wildly interesting matches at CDL NY. Atlanta have been put in Group A and their first match is against Los Angeles Guerrillas, who seem to be one of the teams that did vote for the AUG to be GA’ed. So, as Pharris said, get your popcorn ready. You can catch all of the Call of Duty action this weekend via our CDL New York Home Series hub, including all streams, schedule, scores, brackets, and more.

Atlanta FaZe apologies for ‘misguided tweet’ featuring CDL players in girl filter – Dexerto
Atlanta FaZe apologies for ‘misguided tweet’ featuring CDL players in girl filter FaZe ClanThe Atlanta FaZe organization has apologized after an inappropriate Tweet that went viral from the CDL team account. CDL Twitter accounts have not been afraid to push the envelope this season with memes and jokes between teams. For example, the NYSL Subliner Twitter account posts hilarious memes and pokes fun at other teams. Other CDL Twitter accounts make similar content, and it adds some light-hearted fun and excitement to the CDL season. Unfortunately, the Atlanta FaZe may have passed the line with a recent “misogynistic” Twitter post. Atlanta FaZe apologizes for “misguided” Tweet The FaZe CDL account used a girl filter on popular CDL players such as Anthony “Methodz” Zinni, Seth “Scump” Abner, Chris “Simp” Lehr, and Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson. The post had pictures of each player with the caption, “how many drinks to take them home?” The post remained up for over a day before eventually being taken down. Esports media personality Jake Lucky posted a side-by-side of the original Tweet and subsequent apology. The official apology stated, “we have addressed the issue internally and vow to move forward in a positive manner for all.” It was also stated, “We understand there is no room for misogynistic or harassing behavior and that women and the Call of Duty community deserve better.” Atlanta FaZe have issued an apology for a tweet that drew some backlash in the community. Saying it has been handled internally. pic.twitter.com/TNRkQJY6T9 — Jake Lucky (@JakeSucky) July 7, 2022 One Twitter user commented, “at this point, I’m not surprised. It is FaZe and they do nothing right.” FaZe Clan was recently in the news after parting ways with Fortnite star Evan “Cented” Barron after using a racial slur during a live stream. Atlanta FaZe was also accused of “stealing” its logo from a clothing brand. It will be interesting to see if CDL Twitter accounts take a step back in their meme-making content and what sort of backlash FaZe receives from the CoD community.

Atlanta FaZe announce two new substitutes for Call of Duty League – Dexerto
Atlanta FaZe announce two new substitutes for Call of Duty League The Atlanta FaZe Call of Duty League team have signed two new players to be their substitutes for the 2020 CDL season. With the first-ever season of the newly-formed Call of Duty League set to start in January, all 12 of the participating franchises are finalizing their rosters and coaching staff. Atlanta FaZe, who had announced their young and star-studded roster of players a few weeks ago, also revealed who their substitutes for the 2020 season will be on December 5. They’ve signed Thomas ‘GRVTY’ Malin and Juan Antonio ‘JurNii’ Gonzalez to fill out their required two subs slots for their roster to be eligible for the league. ATLANTA FAZE 2020 CDL ROSTER Tyler ‘aBeZy’ Pharris – Chris ‘Simp’ Lehr – McArthur ‘Cellium’ Jovel – Michael ‘MajorManiak’ Szymaniak – Preston ‘Priestahh’ Greiner – Thomas ‘GRVTY’ Malin (sub) – Juan Antonio ‘JurNii’ Gonzalez (sub) – We are extremely excited to be announcing that @tomGRVTY and @JurNiii will be joining the Atlanta FaZe roster. Join us in giving them a warm welcome to the team! #EZAF pic.twitter.com/61pJYaAzwv — Atlanta FaZe (@ATLFaZe) December 5, 2019 GRVTY remains with FaZe Clan After competing for a handful of amateur teams in 2017 and 2018, GRVTY signed with FaZe Clan as a player for their alternate team FC Black, competing at two open events and placing first at the CWL Fort Worth Open 2019. Following that win, he stayed on with FaZe as the substitute for the CWL Pro League while continuing to play for amateur teams like Sage eSports, with whom he placed top-24 at the CWL Championship. He’s now chosen to remain with the organization as a sub for their CDL team, which means that should he want to compete in the CDL’s Challenger circuit, he will be required to play for Atlanta’s Affiliate or Academy team. JurNii adds international talent For their second substitute, Atlanta FaZe have opted to go with talented Spanish player JurNii, who spent the last three years as a member of Spanish CoD giants Team Heretics. As one of their longest-tenured players, JurNii was instrumental in helping Heretics not only qualify for the Pro League, but also finish in the top-four of Division B and secure a Playoff spot. With Heretics announcing that they were not able to secure a CDL spot for the 2020 season, JurNii had no choice but to enter free agency, which has led him to sign with Atlanta as a sub. With these two substitute signings, Atlanta now have the minimum seven required players on their roster to be eligible for the CDL. While they are free to sign up to ten players, as the Toronto Ultra did, they are not required to sign any more for the 2020 season. Keep up with all of the roster moves and player signings that have happened so far with our Call of Duty League offseason RosterMania hub.

Atlanta FaZe accused of “stealing” logo from clothing brand – Dexerto
Atlanta FaZe accused of “stealing” logo from clothing brand Atlanta FaZe / Alpha ForwardCall of Duty League side Atlanta FaZe has been accused of “stealing” their logo from clothing brand Alpha Forward — which launched two years before the CDL was even announced. Atlanta FaZe is arguably the greatest franchise in the CDL’s short history so far, with a world championship and several victories to their name. It’s also a subsidiary of FaZe Clan, one of the biggest esports organizations in the world with millions of fans and investors that include sports stars and mainstream celebrities. As such, you would expect them to make sure their branding is always on point and, not to mention, actually their own — but that appears to not be the case. The iconic ‘AF’ logo that has come to be so recognizable among Call of Duty fans, an evolution of the original FaZe Clan logo that spent so many years dominating at events. On June 29, though, people started to tweet about the Alpha Forward logo, suggesting that they might have stolen the Atlanta FaZe one and tried palming it off as their own. Instead, the Alpha Forward owner tweeted out an image of their original patent & trademark documentation, proving they registered the AF logo (albeit with two quadrilaterals above the letters) back in December 2017. https://twitter.com/EvanChilds11/status/1542499517421035520 The Atlanta FaZe logo was unveiled almost two years later, in October 2019. According to the Call of Duty League website, it was designed by FaZe Clan owner Thomas ‘Temperrr’ Oliveira, “paying homage to Atlanta’s rich culture while also crediting Atlanta Esports Venture’s progressive esports advancements in the state.” This has caused a number of fans to call out FaZe, saying that they “stole” the logo. Whether the logo really was copied is unclear, but the two are almost perfectly identical. If the Alpha Forward logo didn’t have the two upper shapes above the letter marks, they would be exactly the same — and that could present an even bigger problem.

Atlanta Braves use Warzone menu to announce starting lineup for MLB Opening Day – Dexerto
Atlanta Braves use Warzone menu to announce starting lineup for MLB Opening Day Activision/Atlanta BravesIn honor of Opening Day in the MLB, the Atlanta Braves tweeted out a very unique video to announce their starting lineup – a surprisingly accurate parody of the Call of Duty: Warzone main menu. At this point, everyone knows that Call of Duty and pro sports have a pretty close connection. It’s not uncommon to see NFL and MLB players either playing CoD or appearing in commercials for it. Now, the connection has gone even further. In a new video posted to their official Twitter account, the Atlanta Braves channeled their inner love for Warzone to celebrate the start of the regular season. The video is a play on the game’s main menu and it’s pretty close to the real thing when you compare them side-by-side. The video itself begins on a variation of the “start screen”, but rather than saying “Call of Duty: Warzone”, it reads “Atlanta Braves Starting Lineup” with the same font and color schemes as the original. After that, it moves into the actual menu itself and while it isn’t a one-to-one recreation, it’s pretty close. There’s even a Message of the Day section, as well as a section for the player’s level, COD Points, and more. There are some unique twists on the screen though, such as the tabs on the top including options for “gear,” “team”and “clubhouse” to better fit the MLB theme. And, of course, the background image is changed to feature each player, whose names are written in place of where the modes are usually located. Call of Duty’s official Twitter account even responded to the video, saying that it was a “home run,” so the franchise clearly appreciates the team paying homage on such a big day. All in all, it’s definitely a cool and unique approach and hopefully, we get to see more teams implement this sort of Warzone-themed announcements in the future.

Assault Was Sick During Evil Geniuses CWL Championships Win – Dexerto
Assault Was Sick During Evil Geniuses CWL Championships Win Evil Geniuses (YouTube)Evil Geniuses have released the latest episode of their Call of Duty focused documentary series, Up To Speed, and in it revealed that AR player Adam ‘Assault’ Garcia was ill during their victorious weekend at the 2018 CWL Championship. Garcia, who is EG’s main assault rifle player, confirmed in the episode that he took ill after their historic victory over OpTic Gaming on Day 2 of the tournament. Suffering from a cold and a fever, Assault persevered and was crowned Astro Gaming MVP for the tournament, as his squad secured $600,000 and those all important championship rings with a victory over Team Kaliber in the Grand Final. As Evil Geniuses headed into bracket play, footage shows Assault complaining about the severity of his cold, stating “I can’t breathe” and, before their match against Team EnVy, that he “feels like shit”. The episode, produced by Joe Fries, begins at the end of pool play, as Evil Geniuses kept their CWL Championships dream alive with a 3-0 decimation of OpTic Gaming, dumping the Green Wall out of the tournament. The cameras follow the team as they progress through the weekend, eventually culminating in their victory over tK and the celebrations that followed their triumph. The documentary provides a fascinating insight into the work that goes on behind-the-scenes of a professional Call of Duty team. At numerous points, Evil Geniuses coach Embry ‘Bevil’ Bevils is seen passing information on to the squad, about their own performance, but also important information about opponents playstyles. We’re also shown what EG have referred to as a “Research and Development” meeting, as the team, along with Bevils, is seen discussing map vetoes ahead of their Winners Bracket Final match against Team Kaliber. Evil Geniuses success at the CWL Championships looked almost impossible after just the second day of tournament play. Facing almost certain elimination, EG swept reigning CWL Champions OpTic Gaming without losing a map, then worked their way through the Winners Bracket to finally lift the trophy. Up To Speed provides viewers with a look behind the curtain of one of the greatest stories in Call of Duty history, and is a must watch for fans of Call of Duty esports.

Assault reveals that EG’s trade to Envy could have been to a completely different org Call of Duty World Champion Adam ‘Assault’ Garcia has revealed that the former Evil Geniuses roster nearly ended up joining a completely different organization to Envy. Fans of Call of Duty esports were stunned when Team Envy recently announced they had acquired all four members of Evil Geniuses’ CWL Championship winning roster. Assault, alongside teammates Justin ‘SiLLY’ Fargo, Bryan ‘Apathy’ Zhelyazkov and Patrick ‘ACHES’ Price, made a surprise run at the CWL Championship event in August, defeating Team Kaliber in the Grand Finals to secure EG’s first world championship. They will now join Cuyler ‘Huke’ Garland on Team Envy for the 2019 Call of Duty season, which kicks off in Las Vegas on December 7-9. However, in a comment on Reddit, Assault revealed that, had their move to join Huke at Team Envy not worked out, the former EG lineup intended to team with European player Jordan ‘Jurd’ Crowley on Splyce. “Tunn was right” remarked Garcia, “If we couldn’t make this team happen… we were gonna team with him.” Splyce have been actively looking for players to join their Call of Duty roster since dropping Madcat, Bance and Joshh after a season that ended in a disappointing group stage exit at CWL Champs, and have previously declared that they are looking at players from any region. The organization have made it clear that they intend to compete at the highest level this year, with CEO Marty ‘Lazerchicken’ Strenczewilk tweeting that they are looking to build the “best roster in the world”. While Splyce are still looking for their final roster, Team Envy will be ecstatic to have secured the reigning Call of Duty World Champions before Black Ops 4 releases on Friday, October 12.

Aspiring CoD Player Starts GoFundMe to Chase his Dream After Being Made Homeless – Dexerto
Aspiring CoD Player Starts GoFundMe to Chase his Dream After Being Made Homeless Once a rising star in competitive Call of Duty, Anthony “DraMa” Padilla has fallen on hard times and is asking the community for help to continue to chasing his dream. DraMa recently revealed that he had been made homeless, after he was evicted and then kicked out by his parents, saying that qualification for the World Championship in August was his ‘only hope’. But his team, Vertacon, were eliminated after two losses at the Last Chance Qualifier for CoD Champs, dashing his hopes of making the money he needs from the tournament. After claiming to have applied for ten jobs but receiving no reply, DraMa has put his faith in the community to help him out, starting a GoFundMe page. He explained that after failing to land a job, he saw it as a “sign” to continue pursuing professional Call of Duty and to be “the best player to ever do it.” Over the years I’ve grinded my heart out trying to accomplish my goals but have felt short every year do to really bad In real life experiences. For example, this year I went through really bad depression and alcoholism and it really affected my life and Call of Duty career terribly. I’m happy to say I’m over that though. Unfortunately, a week ago I was Evicted from my home then kicked out by my parents, almost stuck living in the streets. I know it could’ve been avoided if I got a job but I have a bad relationship with my parents. We don’t speak very much and I wasn’t told we were in bad debt. Everything just hit me in really quick and I wasn’t ready for it. I did apply to 10 jobs and 1 agency FYI and I didn’t get a single call. I even had @JoeyNubzy help me with my applications and still couldn’t get one. I Thought it was sign to pursue CoD https://t.co/IZNTmg2vmo — Anthony (@DraMa424) July 25, 2018 His attempt to qualify for the World Championship was, he says, “a risk” that didn’t pay off. I took a risk after I got evicted. I could’ve helped my family out but by getting 2 jobs but instead I kept pursuing CoD and tried to qualify for CoD Champs. That way I could get the $3250 to put my family back in a house and could get my time in the spot light to show the community that I was really good again. But DraMa claims he will reimburse everyone who donates when he ‘makes it’, asking anyone who does contribute to leave their Twitter handle as a message. I’m asking for help from the CoD community please to help my family and I so I can keep on chasing my dream and make them happy again. I give you my word that I’m going to make it, and that’s on everything I love. I promise to pay everyone back once I make it so if you could please reply with your twitter @ on the donation, I’d really appreciate it. With the WWII season now over for DraMa, he will presumably be focusing on the next title, Black Ops 4, set for release on October 12th, which will signal the start of the next competitive season.
