  • Where to equip a Detector and disable an Alien Billboard in Fortnite – Dexerto

Where to equip a Detector and disable an Alien Billboard in Fortnite Epic GamesThe alien invaders have begun taking over billboards in Fortnite to spread their message, and it’s down to you to find and equip a Detector then disable an Alien Billboard to stop them. Fortnite Season 7’s latest update, v17.30, introduced a bunch of new features like the Grab-Itron weapon and prepared the game for the upcoming Ariana Grande concert. It also saw a bunch of billboards pop up around the Island. While these billboards seem innocent enough at first, appearing to simply advertise Mewoscle’s Morsels cat food, they actually hide an extraterrestrial secret. When players get close enough, the message ‘SUBMIT’ appears in big letters. In order to stop the aliens in their tracks, Doctor Slone has ordered players to find and equip a Detector and then disable the Alien Billboards as part of the Week 9 set of Legendary challenges. Below, you’ll find a guide to do just that. Where to find and equip a Detector in Fortnite There are seven Billboard locations across the Island where you can find and equip a Detector in Fortnite: Believer Beach – Boney Burbs – Craggy Cliffs – Lazy Lake – Misty Meadows – Pleasant Park – Retail Row – For this guide, though, we’re going to focus on Misty Meadows. In order to find the Detector here, you’ll need to head to the water fountain, which is on the east side of the Misty Meadows bridge. It’s hard to miss. When you get to the water fountain, you’ll see a black crate next to it. This contains the Detector. Simply interact with the crate and you’ll be able to equip the Detector and move onto the next stage of the quest. How to disable an Alien Billboard in Fortnite Once you’ve equipped a Detector, it’s time to disable that Alien Billboard and put a stop to the invaders’ plans. The Alien Billboard at Misty Meadows is just up the hill from the water fountain where you found the Detector. When you approach the Alien Billboard, the Meowscles’ Morsels advertisement will turn into the ominous ‘SUBMIT’ message. Simply interact with the billboard to disable it and stop the aliens from spreading their message. The map below will help you locate both the Detector and the Alien Billboard at Misty Meadows if you’re struggling to find them: You’ll need to find the Detector and disable the Alien Billboard in the same match or it won’t count. This makes it a treacherous quest to complete, especially as the Billboards are all in areas with high footfall. We’d recommend leaving the Battle Bus and heading straight to the location above, quickly completing the challenge before you get eliminated by any enemy players, and then leaving to stock up on weapons. For more chances to earn XP and level up your Battle Pass, check out this guide to all Fortnite Season 7 weekly challenges.

  • Where to emote at stone statues in Fortnite: location guide – Dexerto

Where to emote at stone statues in Fortnite: location guide Epic GamesHere’s how you can emote at stone statues in order to complete the Fortnite Season 5 Week 9 challenges, complete with a handy location map. Another set of weekly challenges has gone live in Epic Games’ popular battle royale Fortnite, and it’s a mixed bag this week. There’s no obvious theme to link them, but there are a lot of location-based quests. As well as finding a hidden bunker and locating the crashed plane’s black box, you’ll also need to emote at stone statues. To do this one, you’ll need to know exactly where to look, as there are a few places that could fit the description. Below you’ll find the right location you need to visit in order to emote at the stone statues and tick off this quest from your weekly challenge list. Fortnite stone statues locations To find the stone statues, you’ll need to visit one of two points of interest: either Coral Castle or Colossal Colosseum. You can see them marked on the map above, which should make locating them a breeze. We’ve gone into detail about where exactly to find the statues at the POIs below. Coral Colosseum stone statues If you choose to visit Colossal Colosseum, leave the Battle Bus and land around the edges of the Colossal Colosseum. Look out for the giant Peely banana statues. These are the ‘stone statues’ you need to emote at. Coral Castle stone statues If you decide to go for Coral Castle instead, you’ll want to land just north of the main central castle, where you’ll see a walkway with fish statues running along the sides. This is where you need to emote. Read More: Fortnite leak hints at Lara Croft skin – You might have seen these stone statues before while completing previous Fortnite challenges at Coral Castle. They’re not as imposing as the statues at Colossal Colosseum, but they shouldn’t be too hard to find. It’s a good idea to land directly at your chosen point of interest and complete the challenge straight away. There will likely be other players trying to complete this challenge, and you could be caught off guard while using an emote. Coral Castle is usually less busy and less dangerous than Colossal Colosseum, as a recent death map revealed, so land there if you want to complete the challenge without being attacked by other players. How to emote at stone statues in Fortnite Once you’ve arrived at the stone statues, you just need to bring up your emote wheel and choose your favorite emote, whether that’s the Mashed Potato or the T Pose or whatever you want. It’s as simple as that. Read More: How to unlock the Predator skin in Fortnite – Unlike other challenges, which have required you to ‘dance’ at a specific location, you can use any emote to complete the challenge. Do this, and you’ll earn yourself a sweet 20,000 XP to level up that Battle Pass. If you’re looking to get your hands on even more XP, make sure you check out our complete Season 5 Week 9 challenge guide. Remember, these all need to be completed before Thursday, February 4, 2021.

  • Where to destroy Spooky TV Sets in Fortnite’s Foreshadowing Quest – Dexerto

Where to destroy Spooky TV Sets in Fortnite’s Foreshadowing Quest Epic GamesThe final round of Foreshadowing Quests have gone live in Fortnite Season 6, and players will need to locate and destroy Spooky TV Sets to complete them – here’s where to find them. With just days to go until Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 begins, players are looking for any opportunity to earn some much-needed XP to unlock all of the current Battle Pass rewards like the rare enlightened skins. Fortunately, Epic have delivered some final challenges with the Foreshadowing Quests. They offer up the chance to earn 24,000 XP and also hint at what’s to come, with teasers pointing towards an alien invasion. One of these Foreshadowing Quests asks players to destroy five Spooky TV Sets hidden around the Island. You might have trouble finding them, as they’re all far apart, but we’ve got a handy guide to help you out. Spooky TV Set locations in Fortnite Here are all seven locations of Spooky TV Sets in Fortnite Season 6: On top of the cliffside west of Sweaty Sands. – On a small island northeast of Craggy Cliffs. – Underneath some trees southwest of Dirty Docks. – Next to a large tree on the hill west of Lazy Lake. – At a campsite south of the tallest mountain near Catty Corner. – Underneath a big tree south of Slurpy Swamp. – In the woods northeast of Holly Hedges. – While there are seven to find, you only need to destroy five Spooky TV Sets to complete this challenge. As you can see from the map, they’re all far apart, so you’ll probably need to do this over multiple matches. Once you’ve ticked off five, you’ll earn yourself a sweet 24,000 XP for your troubles, and that should be the last of the Fortnite Foreshadowing Quests completed! What do the Spooky TV Sets signify? Like the other Foreshadowing Quests, it’s pretty safe to assume that these Spooky TV Sets have something to do with the theme of Season 7, as well as the UFOs that have been abducting players in the last few days. The voice line from the Fortnite NPC that accompanies the challenge reads, “All unauthorized broadcasts must be terminated. I have an idea where those are coming from… and I don’t like it.” So who is sending out these broadcasts? Well, it could be the aliens that have been abducting players, or it could be the return of Chapter 2 Season 5’s IO Guards, who have been teased in the Foreshadowing Quests. Some players have even speculated that it could be related to WandaVision, as the ‘Spooky TV Sets’ certainly fit in with the Marvel show’s plot and theme… we’ll just have to wait and see! If you’re looking to complete the other Fortnite Foreshadowing Quests, we’ve got guides to finding the Downed Black Helicopter, repairing the Damaged Telescopes, and locating all of the CB Radios.

  • Where to dig up gnomes at Fort Crumpet & Pleasant Park in Fortnite – Dexerto

Where to dig up gnomes at Fort Crumpet & Pleasant Park in Fortnite Epic GamesFortnite Season 5 has added several Week 5 challenges, and you’ll need to find gnomes at Fort Crumpet and Pleasant Park to complete them. Another week of Fortnite Season 5 action means there’s a string of all-new challenges to complete to gain XP and help you progress to the next tier in your Battle Pass – and hopefully unlock some sweet new cosmetics along the way. Some of these Week 5 challenges are easy, like searching 15 chests or ammo crates, while others might take you a bit longer to complete. We’ve put together a handy guide to eliminating 50 IO Guards which might help with the Legendary quest. Weekly challenges often feature a theme of some sort, like Week 4’s tomato-inspired challenges. This week is no different, as three of the quests you’ll want to complete revolve around gnomes, gnomes, and more gnomes. Gnome quests in Fortnite Week 5 challenges Gnomes have been a staple of Epic Games’ popular battle royale game for a long time, with many previous challenges requiring players to find them, destroy them, or even disarm gnome traps to save them (presumably so you can destroy them later). They’re back for more in Week 5’s challenges, but this time you’ll actually have a total of three gnome-inspired quests to complete courtesy of the NPC Grimbles: Dig up Gnomes from Fort Crumpet and Pleasant Park – Collect Gnomes from Fort Crumpet and Holly Hedges – Bury Gnomes in Pleasant Park or Retail Row – The first quest requires you to dig up four gnomes from Fort Crumpet and Pleasant Park, and we’ve explained how to do that below. Gnome locations in Fort Crumpet and Pleasant Park Buried gnomes appear in Fortnite as mounds of dirt in the ground, and they glow with blue light. Once you find them, you’ll need to hit them with your pickaxe and they’ll rise from the ground. Gnomes can be found buried on the ground floor of Fort Crumpet. We found two of them when we visited. This is a small area to search, and is usually quiet, so it shouldn’t take you too long to locate them. Over at Pleasant Park, you’ll want to search the grass-covered areas to find buried gnomes. We found one near the middle of Pleasant Park, and another hidden in the garden of a house to the west of this area. You can see the gnome locations in Fort Crumpet and Pleasant Park on the map below: Once you’ve dug up four gnomes, you’ll complete the first part of Grimbles’ challenge. The second part requires you to search 15 chests or ammo crates. If you’re looking to complete the rest of the week’s quests, make sure you check out our Fortnite Season 5 Week 5 Challenges hub.

TNTina’s Trial were introduced to the game in Season 2 of Fortnite Chapter 2, bringing with them new skins and cosmetics to add to your inventory, and one of these is the new Agent skins that are earned through the battle pass. The Shadow or Ghost skin styles are earned through completing TNTina’s Trial challenges, and the missions to earn each skin are different. Ghost dropboxes To unlock the Shadow skin style, you need to destroy Ghost dropboxes using explosives in the following locations: Steamy Stacks – Pleasant Park – Frenzy Farm (x2) – Sweaty Sands – Holly Hedges – Slurpy Swamp – Misty Meadows – Lazy Lake – These are the dropbox locations we currently know of, though there may be more throughout the map. With two Ghost dropboxes in Frenzy Farm, that will be the best place for you to head first to get that mission done, while the Shadow dropboxes are more evenly spread. Getting the Steamy Stacks dropbox first might be the best bet, as you can use it to easily rotate to another location and get the Mission done in one go. Be warned, though: with players chasing these missions, you might run into some trouble trying to complete them.

  • Where to destroy motorboats for Fortnite’s Week 6 challenge – Dexerto

Where to destroy motorboats for Fortnite’s Week 6 challenge Epic GamesTo complete Fortnite’s Week 6 challenges, you’ll need to destroy both motorboats and regular boats. We’ve put together a handy location map to make it easier. Motorboats were introduced in Chapter 2 of Epic Games’ hit battle royale Fortnite, and they’ve been a popular staple of the game ever since. The ability to travel across water at high speeds and shoot enemy structures down with missiles is incredibly helpful. But as part of Season 5’s Week 6 challenges, you’ll be tasked with destroying them, not riding them. You’ll need to destroy three motorboats, as well as seven regular boats, on your mission to complete all of the week’s challenges. Finding regular boats is easy, as there are plenty of them located at large bodies of water like Lazy Lake Island and Coral Castle. Motorboats, however, are more difficult to find. Fortunately, we’ve got a handy map with locations where you can find them. Where to find motorboats in Fortnite As this week’s challenges focus on fishing, water, and boats, it makes a lot of sense to head straight for the top left corner of the map where the points of interest Coral Castle and Sharky Shell can be found. These areas are surrounded by water, meaning there’s plenty of opportunities to complete all of this week’s challenges. We’re going to focus on motorboats here, though, so check out our Week 6 challenges guide for instructions to complete the rest of them. You can see the locations where motorboats appear on the map above. There are some to be found inside Coral Castle, but there will be a lot of players landing there to complete challenges this week, so we’d recommend traveling around it and visiting the locations we’ve marked instead. You’ll need to find and destroy three motorboats to complete the challenge. How do you destroy them? Well, we’ve got that covered below, too. How to destroy motorboats in Fortnite Once you’ve found the motorboats, the difficult part is actually destroying them. Regular boats will just need a few hits with your pickaxe, but a motorboat is a lot tougher and will likely require more firepower. You’ll need to deal 800 damage to destroy a motorboat, so we recommend finding an assault rifle or SMG to speed up the process. Another method is to drive a separate motorboat and use its missile feature to blow the rest up. Of course, you can just use a regular old pickaxe, but it will be a laborious process and will knock the motorboat around. If you’ve got nothing else with you, it will have to do. Doing all of this will likely draw attention to your location, and other players will no doubt be looking to complete their weekly challenges and destroy motorboats too. Keep an eye out for danger. If you’re looking to complete the rest of the week’s quests, make sure you check out our Fortnite Season 5 Week 6 Challenges hub.

  • Where to destroy Alien Trees in Fortnite – Dexerto

Where to destroy Alien Trees in Fortnite Epic GamesExtraterrestrial life has slowly been taking over the Island throughout Fortnite Season 7, so the latest set of weekly challenges tasks players with destroying Alien Trees. Ticking off this Epic challenge will reward you with 30,000 XP which should help you level up and unlock more skins and cosmetics in the Battle Pass – especially now those desirable Super Styles have been released. There are a few places you can visit to complete this quest, but some landing spots are better than others, so we’ve put together a simple guide to make finishing this quest a breeze. What are Alien Trees in Fortnite? Alien Trees are the strange-looking trees that have emerged in the purple areas across the Fortnite map. As Farmer Hayseed explains in the quest description, “them invaders are invading the plants too!” Read More: Where to find the Inflate-A-Bull in Fortnite – There are actually two types of Alien Trees: the first type looks like a regular tree but with purple leaves, and the second type is long and thin with a blue and pink color scheme. You can destroy either of them. Below you’ll find the best locations to visit to complete this weekly challenge. Where to destroy Alien Trees in Fortnite As you can see from the map above, there are plenty of locations you can visit across the Fortnite map to find and destroy Alien Trees. Essentially, you’re just looking for an area where the ground is purple. Having said that, some of these purple patches only have a few Alien Trees, and you’ll need to destroy five to complete the challenge, so we’d recommend hitting up the purple area just west of Boney Burbs. There are more than enough trees to destroy here, and it’s far enough away from any major Fortnite POIs or landmarks that you shouldn’t run into many enemies. Once you’ve landed here, simply swing your pickaxe and get destroying. The thin trees should only require one hit, while the big trees will take a few whacks. Either way, it shouldn’t take you long to finish the quest. Now that you’ve destroyed those trees, why not check out our complete Fortnite Season 7 weekly challenge guide for more opportunities to earn XP and level up your Battle Pass.

  • Where to destroy Dog Houses for Fortnite Week 6 challenges – locations – Dexerto

Where to destroy Dog Houses for Fortnite Week 6 challenges – locations Epic GamesThe new set of challenges for Fortnite Season 2, Week 6 – also known as the Meowscles’ Mischief challenges – includes one that requires players to destroy Dog Houses, and we’ve got a guide for where you can find them and the fastest ways to complete this objective. As is the case every Thursday, Epic Games released a fresh set of 10 challenges for Fortnite players to complete and earn additional XP towards their Chapter 2: Season 2 Battle Pass. While all of the objectives are pretty straightforward, such as searching chests or dealing damage to enemies, some could be completed faster and most efficiently with a little sense of direction. Case in point – the Dog House challenge, which requires players to destroy three of them. While the in-game description doesn’t specify that this has to be done in a single match, you probably want to wrap it up in one go, either way. Dog House locations in Fortnite The best and quickest approach is to land at a location that always has several Dog Houses. One such point of interest is Holly Hedge, located on the western coast of the map, which has four of them within a small area of space. The first can be found near the top-left corner, the second on the top-right, and the third and fourth ones adjacent to each other near the center of the town and bottom-right, respectively. It’s those two Dog Houses close to each other that are the key to completing this challenge swiftly; a good strategy is to land at the house in the southeastern corner and destroy the first one, before moving across the road to the gray-colored house and knocking down the second one. Then, your best bet is to run to the northeast corner of the map, where the next close Dog House is, and destroy that one. The good thing about Holly Hedges is that if one does get knocked down by an enemy player, there’s always an extra pet home in reserve – which, in this case, would be the one near the northwest corner. A video demonstrating this can be found below, courtesy of YouTuber ‘randomChievos.’ As mentioned above, this is only one of 10 challenges released in Fortnite for Week 6 of Season 2. For more details and guides to help you complete the rest, make sure to check out our Meowscles Mischief Challenge hub here.

  • Where to dance on Mount H7, F8, & Kay for Fortnite’s Cameo vs Chic Mission – Dexerto

Where to dance on Mount H7, F8, & Kay for Fortnite’s Cameo vs Chic Mission Epic GamesFortnite fans have a brand-new Mission to get stuck into with the release of the Cameo vs Chic Overtime Mission, and one of this week’s challenges tasks players with dancing on top of Mount H7, Mount F8, and Mount Kay to earn some massive XP rewards towards their Chapter 2, Season 1 Battle Pass. It’s been two weeks since Epic Games added a fresh set of challenges to the game, but players were finally greeted with the Cameo vs Chic challenges on January 30, the fourth Overtime Mission added to Fortnite as Chapter 2, Season 1 winds down to its eventual end in late February. This week’s Mission is full of challenges that will see players moving around the map, with one of the more difficult challenges asking players to dance on the summits of Mount H7, Mount F8, and Mount Kay. Unfortunately for Fortnite fans hoping to complete this challenge with ease, the mountains where you need to dance have not been marked on the map, which means their name won’t appear on your screen when you open the in-game map to find them, making this challenge slightly more difficult than anticipated. If you’re struggling to find them though, we’ve taken the hassle out of your search by marking each of the summits on the map below, so you know exactly where you need to go to bust a move and earn that all-important XP. All of the mountains are in the south of the map, so you won’t have too far to travel between them, and they don’t have to be danced on in the same match. There’s also no specific move that needs to be performed when you reach the peaks of the mountains, so use whatever emote is the easiest for you once you get there and you’ll have marked off another mountain from your tally. Just like the rest of the Overtime Missions, those who this challenge will be rewarded with 52,000 XP, which will help players level up their Battle Pass as they attempt to unlock the special Tier 100 skin before time runs out on February 20 when Season 1 comes to a conclusion. There are 10 Cameo vs Chic Mission challenges in total, with another challenge forcing players to catch some fish at an area where it’s forbidden.

Read More: Fortnite update 17.11 adds Alien Nanite – In order to complete the challenge, you will need to use the latter method of the Alien Nanites, but there is a slight problem players have been encountering when trying to find them around the map. As HYPEX noted, Epic has disabled the abductor, so players cannot launch into the alien mothership, which has the highest spawn point of the Alien Nanites. You have a better chance of finding Alien Nanites on the Mothership or Abducters but both of those are currently bugged and don’t spawn ingame.. Epic are most likely aware of this and they’re working on a fix! — HYPEX (@HYPEX) July 6, 2021 We can assume this will be resolved quickly, but when you are able to access the ship again, here is where the Alien Nanites will spawn. • Where to dance at Fortnite’s Lake Canoe, Camp Cod & Rainbow Rentals – Dexerto

Where to dance at Fortnite’s Lake Canoe, Camp Cod & Rainbow Rentals Epic GamesFortnite Season 2, Week 6 is here, and with the second set of Meowscles’ Mischief challenges going live on Thursday, March 26, fans of the popular battle royale title will need to dance at Lake Canoe, Camp Cod, and Rainbow Rentals for one of the 10 tasks set out by the secret agent. As always, Epic Games have added another set of 10 challenges to the game for players to sink their teeth into, allowing them to earn XP towards their Season 2 Battle Pass, and one of the more difficult tasks this week asks fans of the battle royale game to dance at three different Fortnite locations. While this may sound easy, the problem is that none of them are actually marked on the in-game map, meaning that you’ll need to rely on your own knowledge to visit them, or just hope to stumble across them as you search for Victory Royales. If you’re struggling, or just want to complete them as quickly as possible, we’ve found Lake Canoe, Camp Cod, and Rainbow Rentals to make this Fortnite challenge much easier. Where to find Lake Canoe, Camp Cod, and Rainbow Rentals for Meowscles’ Mischief challenges The good news is that you don’t have to dance at all three locations in a single match, so you can adjust your landing routes accordingly if you want to drop at one of these spots and then continue your game as normal. First up, Lake Canoe is probably the easiest of the three to find, as it’s a small island with four canoes propped up against each other that sits south-west of Dirty Docks. To find Rainbow Rentals, you’ll need to head to the other side of the island and find five different colored buildings sitting on the beach, directly west of Weeping Woods. Finally, Camp Cod is likely to be the most difficult to find, as it doesn’t actually sit on the main portion of the Chapter 2 map. Players are looking to the south of the island, for a small piece of land that sits just off-shore. On it sits Camp Cod, a green barn surrounded by crushed cars and a metal fence. Due to its location, you may want to wait for a match where the Battle Bus flies close to it, as you’ll need to scale some mountains to get back onto the main island. We’ve marked all three location on the map below so you can find them with ease. If you want to visit all three in one match, your best bet is to use a Choppa, as it is the fastest way to cross the island. Don’t worry if you want to spread them out though, as there is no limit to how many matches you take to visit all three. Once you reach these spots, simply perform a dance from your locker, and you’ll have ticked that location off. Once you’ve busted a move at all three, you’ll receive 40,000XP as a reward for your efforts.

  • Where to collect the Doomsday Preppers Guide in Fortnite – Dexerto

Where to collect the Doomsday Preppers Guide in Fortnite Epic GamesIt seems that something ominous is on the way in Fortnite Season 7, as players will need to locate and collect a Doomsday Preppers Guide in order to complete the Week 4 challenges. Aliens are the name of the game in Season 7 of Epic Games‘ hit battle royale, with everything from creepy Parasites attacking players to giant Mothership beaming people up to compete in a mini-game to earn weapons. And the latest set of weekly challenges suggests that the mayhem isn’t over (no surprise there). In order to earn yourself 30,000 XP and unlock some extra cosmetics from the Battle Pass, you’ll need to collect a Doomsday Preppers Guide. To make this Fortnite challenge a little easier, we’ve put together a handy location guide with everything you need to know about completing this Legendary quest below. Fortnite Doomsday Preppers Guide location The mysterious Doomsday Preppers Guide is located at Hydro 16, an unnamed Fortnite location east of Slurpy Swamp. You’ll need to make your way to this power plant in order to get your hands on the book. Here’s how to collect the Doomsday Preppers Guide in Fortnite: Land at Hydro 16 which is east of Slurpy Swamp. – Enter the main building on the ground floor. – Head to the northeast corner and enter a small office. – The Doomsday Preppers Guide will be on the floor next to the computer desk. – Interact with the book and you’ll complete the challenge. – This is the office you’ll need to enter. Once inside, if you look on the ground in between the computer desk and the filing cabinet, you should be able to see a notebook. This is the Doomsday Preppers Guide. As long as the Fortnite quest is active, you’ll be able to interact with the book to collect it and the challenge will be complete! You’ll now have an extra 30,000 XP to your name, and be ready to take on Fortnite’s Week 5 challenges when they arrive on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. What is the Doomsday Preppers Guide? As the name suggests, this is a book that someone in the Fortnite universe has been using to prepare themselves for ‘Doomsday’. Considering every Legendary quest in Week 4 has been centered around the familiar NPC known as Farmer Steel – who’s mysteriously gone missing in Season 7 – it’s most likely that this book belongs to him. After warning players about crop circles at the end of Season 6, many players assumed he had been abducted by aliens. But now we know he had a ‘Doomsday’ guide, he might actually be in hiding – perhaps in an underground bunker? We’ll no doubt find out more information about Farmer Steel’s whereabouts – as well as Agent Jones, who’s also gone missing – as Season 7 progresses and more of the story unfolds. Until then, why not check out our complete guide to Fortnite Season 7 weekly challenges for more chances to earn XP and level up your Battle Pass?

  • Where to construct a Wooden Hatchery in Fortnite Season 7 – Dexerto

Where to construct a Wooden Hatchery in Fortnite Season 7 Epic GamesIt’s time to put your DIY skills to the test, Fortnite fans, as one of this week’s Legendary quests requires you to find and construct a Wooden Hatchery for some sweet, sweet XP. While most of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7’s weekly challenges have so far revolved around alien invaders, Week 7’s Legendary quests are a little more obscure, with players needing to find Records and collect Parenting Books from various locations. Another strange quest asks players to construct a Wooden Hatchery, which is used to hold eggs. Whether this is meant for the chickens that run wild around the Island or the recent Alien Parasite invaders, we’ll have to wait and see. We doubt players are going to spend too much time debating the purpose of this quest, though, so let’s get straight to the reason you’re here: Below, you’ll find information on how to find and construct a Wooden Hatchery. Where to construct a Wooden Hatchery in Fortnite The first location you can build a Wooden Hatchery in Fortnite is on an island at the north of the map near Stealthy Stronghold, and the second is at the southwest of the map near Slurpy Swamp. Players will only need to visit one of these locations, as the challenge only requires one hatchery to be constructed You’ll also need to farm some wood to craft these Wooden Hatcheries, but both locations have trees nearby that you can knock down with your pickaxe. Worst case scenario, you can just destroy the shacks they’re in! Below we’ve gone into more detail about each location to help you find them. Fortnite Wooden Hatchery location #1 The first place you can construct a Wooden Hatchery is inside a little wooden shack on the small island at the very top of the map. If you don’t know where that is, it’s just northeast of Stealthy Stronghold. This location is also right next to the Unremarkable Shack landmark, which longtime players might know as the hiding place of one of the three mysterious Hidden Bunkers. The Wooden Hatchery will look like a blue hologram with an egg on top of it until you interact with it. Fortnite Wooden Hatchery location #2 The second location where you can build a Wooden Hatchery is a little harder to find, as it’s hidden in the vast swamp area south of the Slurpy Swamp POI. To save you from searching around the whole location, you’ll want to head to the smallest island directly south of the factory at Slurpy Swamp, where you’ll see an elevated shack. The Wooden Hatchery is inside. You’ll earn a huge 45,000 XP for your troubles, but if that’s not enough for you, we’ve got a complete guide to every weekly challenge in Fortnite Season 7 that should help you level up your Battle Pass in no time.

  • Where to Collect Stone at Rapid’s Rest for Fortnite Week 7 challenges – Dexerto

Where to Collect Stone at Rapid’s Rest for Fortnite Week 7 challenges Epic GamesFortnite’s week 7 challenges have arrived and one of the tasks requires you to Collect 300 Stone at Rapid’s Rest. Here’s where you can find this unnamed point-of-interest. Epic Games has added plenty of changes to Fortnite in Chapter 2, Season 3 such as the flooded island, which is changing every week as the water levels continue to drop back down to normal. However, many of the new points-of-interest that are popping up on the map remain unnamed, making them difficult to find for players who are looking to complete challenges at these locations. For Week 7, one of the tasks requires players to find the Rapid’s Rest POI and collect some stone resources nearby. While the challenge itself is quite straightforward, it can be quite difficult to get to Rapid’s Rest if you don’t know where to look. Here’s everything you’ll need to find Rapid Rest and tick this challenge off your list. Where to Collect 300 Stone at Rapid’s Rest in Fortnite? To find Rapid’s Rest, you’ll need to travel directly East from the Lazy Lake POI until you reach the river. – From there, you should be able to find a small hut near the water which is surrounding by rocks. – Once you make your way here, you’ll simply need to harvest 300 stone from these rocks, by using your pickaxe to complete the challenge. – There you have it, once you follow these steps you should have finished the challenge and will receive 35,000 experience points for your efforts, which will help level up your battle pass. To keep track of the rest of the challenges that were added to Fortnite in Week 7, you can find the full list of tasks in our weekly challenge guide here.

  • Where to collect Parenting Books from Holly Hatchery or Retail Row in Fortnite – Dexerto

Where to collect Parenting Books from Holly Hatchery or Retail Row in Fortnite Epic GamesOne of this week’s Fortnite Legendary challenges requires players to collect Parenting Books from either Holly Hatchery or Retail Row to earn a sizeable chunk of XP. Most of the weekly challenges so far in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 have been focused around the alien invasion taking place across the Island, with more intriguing story-driven objectives than we’ve seen in recent seasons. Having said that, we’re not quite sure what the relevance of Parenting Books to the current season is, but players will no doubt just be happy to have another opportunity to earn some more XP and level up their Battle Pass. Here’s everything you need to know about collecting Parenting Books from Holly Hatchery or Retail Row, including details of where to find them along with a couple of handy location maps. Where to find Parenting Books in Fortnite There are two locations you can visit to collect Parenting Books in Fortnite: Holly Hatchery or Retail Row. Holly Hatchery is the same location as Holly Hedges, except it’s now been taken over by alien invaders. Parenting Books are purple and can usually be found inside houses near bookcases – but not always. You’ll need to collect two of them to complete this challenge, and we’ve got locations of them all below. Parenting Book locations at Holly Hatchery Here’s where you can find all of the Parenting Books at Holly Hatchery in Fortnite: In the hallway of the yellow wooden house northwest of Holly Hatchery. – Inside the garage of the grey house at the northeast of Holly Hatchery. – On the living room floor of the house east of the Holly Hatchery garden center. – You might have a hard time looking for Parenting Books here as the aliens have taken over, meaning there are NPC enemies and alien biomes that will cause chaos. We’d recommend going to Retail Row instead. Parenting Book locations at Retail Row Here’s where you can find all of the Parenting Books at Retail Row in Fortnite: On the ground floor of the blue house at the northwest of Retail Row. – Inside the square fenced-off area at the center of Retail Row. – In the living room on the ground floor of the white house south of Retail Row. – Once you’ve collected two books, you’ll have completed the challenge and earned yourself 30,000 XP to contribute to your Battle Pass. Hopefully, you’ll unlock some more Battle Stars in the process! For more ways to collect XP this season, make sure you check out our guide to all Fortnite Season 7 weekly Epic and Legendary challenges.

  • Where to collect Records at Pleasant Park and Craggy Cliffs in Fortnite – Dexerto

Where to collect Records at Pleasant Park and Craggy Cliffs in Fortnite Epic GamesOne of this week’s Legendary quests in Fortnite Season 7 tasks players with collecting Records from two separate locations on the Island: Pleasant Park or Craggy Cliffs. Weekly challenges are the quickest way for Fortnite players to earn XP, level up their Battle Pass, and unlock some sweet skins and cosmetics. Thankfully, Epic Games are keeping them coming throughout Chapter 2 Season 7. As well as collecting Parenting Books and constructing a Wooden Hatchery, gamers will need to find and collect Records hidden around Pleasant Park and Craggy Cliffs in order to tick off all of this week’s Legendary quests. If you know where to look, you’ll be able to complete this quest in no time at all – so we’ve put together a simple guide with handy maps of the Record locations at both POIs on the Fortnite map. Fortnite Record locations at Pleasant Park Here are all of the Record locations at Pleasant Park in Fortnite: On the ground floor of the white house on the west side of Pleasant Park. – Next to a small wooden cupboard in the northwest house at Pleasant Park. – At the bottom of the stairs in the brick house north of Pleasant Park. – Next to the TV in the house northeast of Pleasant Park. – On the first floor of the building southeast of Pleasant Park. – Records appear in purple boxes, so they’re not too hard to spot. There are five Records to be found at Pleasant Park, which makes it an easy place to complete this challenge. It is a busy location, though, so you might find it less dangerous to visit Craggy Cliffs instead. Fortnite Record locations at Craggy Cliffs Here are all of the Record locations at Craggy Cliffs in Fortnite: In the small building on the cliff west of Craggy Cliffs. It’s next to a wooden table. – Inside the garage next to NOMS supermarket. – Next to some bins east of the Cap’n Carp restaurant. – In the middle building along the east side of Craggy Cliffs, on the ground floor. – There are four Records to collect here, and it’s usually less busy than at Pleasant Park, so we’d recommend coming to Craggy Cliffs to tackle this weekly challenge. Once you’ve collected two Records, you’ll have completed the challenge and earned yourself 30,00 XP! If you still want more XP so you can keep leveling up the Battle Pass, we’ve got a handy guide to completing all Fortnite Season 7 weekly challenges right here.

  • Where to collect fuel cells and return the backpack in Fortnite – Dexerto

Where to collect fuel cells and return the backpack in Fortnite Epic GamesOne of the latest Fortnite Resistance Quests requires you to equip a backpack and collect fuel cells near Command Cavern – and we’ve got the locations you need to find them. There’s less than a week to go before Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 comes to a close with the Collision live event, so it’s more important than ever to stock up on that last-minute XP and level up your Battle Pass. Fortunately, there’s one final set of Resistance Quests to help you do just that. One of this week’s tasks requires you to equip a backpack and collect fuel cells near Command Cavern, then return it at least half full. Finding these fuel cells is a little tricky, though, as the game doesn’t tell you where they are. Fortunately, we’ve got the fuel cell location you need to help you finish this challenge in no time at all. Where to collect fuel cells for your backpack in Fortnite The quickest way to complete this challenge is to head to Seven Outpost V, just west of Command Cavern, and collect the backpack from behind the main building (the one that has a Vault inside it). Once you’ve done that, head towards the bridge just northwest of your current location that goes across the river. On the northern side of this bridge, there’s a small IO building with computer equipment inside of it. You’ll also find a fuel cell inside this building, so walk into it to collect it. While your backpack won’t be full at this point, it should be enough to get you back to Seven Outpost V if you head directly there. Don’t return to the main building, though – search for an item that looks like a briefcase on the floor along the path to Seven Outpost V. It should be next to some barrels and fences. This is your drop-off point. Approach it, interact with it, and you’re done! While the fuel cells you collect deplete as you move, with this method, you’re only a small distance from the drop-off point so you should have enough time. If you can’t make it back to Seven Outpost V with just that one fuel cell for whatever reason (it worked for us, but it may not work for you), then you might end up having to search Command Cavern for more. Read More: Rarest skins in Fortnite – There are loads of fuel cells hidden in and around Command Cavern, so keep an eye on your minimap for diamonds with exclamation marks inside them, as these will point you in the right direction. Where to collect a vase of flowers at Lazy Lake in Fortnite Epic GamesIn a break from all of Doctor Slone’s espionage quests, one of Fortnite’s Week 11 Legendary challenges asks players to simply collect a vase of flowers from Lazy Lake. Most of the weekly challenges in Fortnite Season 7 so far have been related to the storyline, which sees the Imagined Order (led by Doctor Slone) face off against the alien invaders, whose intentions on the Island remain a mystery. • Where to bathe in the Purple Pool for Fortnite Week 13 challenge – Dexerto

Where to bathe in the Purple Pool for Fortnite Week 13 challenge Epic GamesOne of Fortnite’s Season 5 Week 13 challenges requires players to bathe in the Purple Pool at Steamy Stacks. If you’re struggling to find it, we’ve got the location right here. A new set of weekly challenges has launched in Epic Games’ hit battle royale Fortnite, loosely themed around the Zero Point. Most of them are self-explanatory, like dealing Pistol damage or throwing fruit at Hunter’s Haven. Others require some prior knowledge or serious exploring to complete, like the location-based challenge to scan a server at a Surface Hub, which might confuse some players who don’t know what a Surface Hub is. Another Week 13 quest that’s a little difficult this week requires you to bathe in a Purple Pool at Steamy Stacks. While finding Steamy Stacks is easy, locating the Purple Pool itself might be a little more difficult. Fortnite Purple Pool location As the challenge title suggests, you’ll find the Purple Pool at Steamy Stacks. This is the named POI at the northeast of the Fortnite map. We’d recommend heading here straight away as it usually gets consumed by the Storm pretty early on. Once you land, enter the main Kevolution Energy building. Walk through the door to your left, and then open the oval metal door to your right. You’ll know it’s the correct door because it has a wheel handle on it. You should emerge in a large room that has a body of water in the middle. This is the Purple Pool that you need to bathe in. Simply jump into the water and you’ll tick off the Fortnite Week 13 challenge, earning 20,000 XP in the process. How to bathe in the Purple Pool at Steamy Stacks: Exit the Battle Bus and land at Steamy Stacks. – Enter the Kevolution Energy building from the front entrance. – Go through the left door. – Go through the door immediately on your right. – Jump into the Purple Pool. – As we mentioned before, Steamy Stacks often gets consumed by the Storm early on in a match. Because of this, we’d recommend landing here straight away, completing the challenge, and getting out of the building fast. If you’re late to the area, stock up on weapons first for the fights you’ll inevitably have. If you need to earn more XP to max out your Battle Pass and unlock those rare enlightened skins, make sure you check out our complete Fortnite Week 13 challenge guide.

  • Fortnite Winterfest 2019 event: Challenges, Rewards, Unvaulted weapons – Dexerto

Fortnite Winterfest 2019 event: Challenges, Rewards, Unvaulted weapons The Winterfest 2019 update for Fortnite Battle Royale is now live, bringing with it map changes, new challenges and rewards, LTMs and another unvaulting event. The Winterfest is this year’s version of 14 Days of Fortnite, which was a big hit back in 2018. Again, for 14 days, there will be lots to do and unlock. Data miners previously leaked the snow map, as well as the new Winterfest lodge, which will be unlike anything we’ve ever seen before in Fortnite. Essentially, Winterfest is the evolution of the very popular ’14 Days of Fortnite’ event we saw in 2018, and the rewards or ‘presents’ have already been leaked. Presents in Winterfest The headline for this event are the free presents, which can be found in the new Snowflake tab. This will take you to the lodge, where, every day for 14 days, you can unwrap a present: 2 Outfits – 2 Gliders – 2 Pickaxes – 2 Wraps – 1 Emote – and more! – If you miss any of the 14 days, you’ll be able to come back to the lodge until January 7 to pick up any missing items. • Where is the Nutcracker House in Fortnite Chapter 3? – Dexerto

Where is the Nutcracker House in Fortnite Chapter 3? Epic GamesThe Nutcracker House has returned in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 to celebrate the arrival of winter, and we’ve got a handy guide to help you find its location on the map. Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 has well and truly flipped things upside down (literally), with an entirely new map discovered underneath the Island featuring exciting POIs like Greasy Grove and The Sanctuary. As well as these traditional named locations, there are smaller landmarks to discover. These aren’t named on the map, meaning they usually don’t get as much attention but often contain great loot and secrets. One of the best landmarks on the new Chapter 3 Season 1 map is the Christmas-themed Nutcracker House (officially known as Crackshot’s Cabin), so we’re going to help you find it. Nutcracker House location in Fortnite Chapter 3 To find the Nutcracker House in Fortnite Chapter 3, head south across the lake at Logjam Lumberyard, which is at the northwest corner of the map, until you find a cabin with a Nutcracker statue outside. This location is officially called Crackshot’s Cabin, but has become known as Nutcracker House among Fortnite fans. It returns most years during winter and makes a nice addition to the snow-covered area. We’ve marked the Nutracker House’s location with a red ‘X’ on the Fortnite map below. So why would you want to visit the Nutcracker House? Well, there are three chests to open at the bottom of a Christmas Tree, which also has a cute golden llama on top of it instead of a traditional star. When you’re finished here, there are some speedy Nutcracker-themed quad bikes out the front of the cabin so you can make a quick getaway and travel to the nearby POIs like Shifty Shafts and Coney Crossroads. • Where Is the Fortnite Cube Going and Where Is It Now? – Dexerto

Where Is the Fortnite Cube Going and Where Is It Now? One of the biggest mysteries in Fortnite Battle Royale recently is what the giant purple cube is supposed to be and where it is going to end up. Where is the cube now? The cube appeared in a flash of lightning on August 24 and has been the center of attention for a number of conspiracy theories ever since. One thing is for sure: the cube is not staying in one location. Having originally appeared next to Paradise Palms, the cube slowly traveled north, past Fatal Fields and has since made a number of direction changes. Read More: Fortnite Mobile Players Have Figured Out a Way to Predict the Path and Final Location of the Cube – Twitter user @siloleaks has been keeping track of the cube’s progress with daily dot-to-dot images for anyone that hasn’t been able to look up the cube’s movements in-game. The current September 5 image can be found below. As you can see, the current direction of travel seems to be taking it towards Dusty Divot for the time being. One of the prevailing theories about the cube’s eventual purpose is that it will end up in Loot Lake, or some other lake, and then trigger some sort of major event. Read More: Everything You Need to Know About Fortnite’s Customizable Wild Card Outfit Styles and High Stakes Cosmetics – The information supporting that theory initially came in the form of a leak from @FNLeak on Twitter. The data mining account shared files that seem to show that the cube will “MoveToLake” and then “TurnOn”: It is possible that the “MoveToLake” part of the file is referring to an unnamed area of water on the map – like the one that the cube originally appeared next to in Paradise Palms. However, a recent discovery from mobile Fortnite players seems to have provided a way of predicting future movements and the final resting place. Using that exploit, we have mapped out where the cube is expected to end up. But remember, this is all speculation for the time being! https://www.dexerto.com/fortnite/fortnite-mobile-players-have-figured-out-a-way-to-predict-the-path-and-final-location-of-the-cube-155967

Where is the last present in Fortnite Winterfest? Crescent Shroom Pickaxe revealed Epic GamesIf you’re wondering where the last Winterfest present is in Fortnite, you’re not alone, as most players are now waiting for their Crescent Shroom Pickaxe to arrive. Winterfest has been an exciting event for Fortnite players, with each day offering the opportunity to open a present for a free cosmetic gift – including that creepy Frozen Peely skin you’re probably seeing everywhere right now. Although the event is coming to an end, with the majority of players having opened every present sitting under Sgt. Winter’s watchful eye at the Winterfest Lodge, the Fortnite lobby still says there’s one present left to open. So where is it? And more importantly, what’s going to be inside it? Let’s find out. Where is the last present in Fortnite Winterfest? The short and simple answer is that there is no last present to open in Fortnite. If you’ve unwrapped all 14 visible presents in the Winterfest Lodge, then you’ve opened everything that’s on offer right now. That doesn’t mean there won’t be a bonus ‘final present’ in the near future, though. Following hours of downtime at the end of December 2021, Epic tweeted on January 5 that all players who logged in during Winterfest will receive a Crescent Shroom Pickaxe in place of the last present. As thanks for everyone’s patience during the December login issues, we’ll be kicking off a Power Leveling Weekend from 1/7 @ 7 PM to 1/10 @ 7 AM ET and granting everyone who logged in during Winterfest the new Crescent Shroom Pickaxe before it arrives in the Shop later! pic.twitter.com/d2xiIDnyl2 — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) January 5, 2022 The Crescent Shroom Pickaxe is a matching cosmetic for the upcoming Madcap skin. This reward gives players a chance to own it before it goes live in the Item Shop later this year. There will also be a Power Leveling Weekend from January 7 to January 10, which is a great time to earn some XP and level up the Battle Pass. How to get the Crescent Shroom Pickaxe present in Fortnite All you have to do to get the new Crescent Shroom Pickaxe is make sure you’ve logged in at some point during Winterfest before the event comes to an end on January 6, 2022. There are no further details on how to claim the reward, but it will most likely just appear in your locker once Winterfest is over, as there’s no actual present to open this time. • Where is the Cube Assassin in Fortnite? How to find Season 8 boss – Dexerto

Where is the Cube Assassin in Fortnite? How to find Season 8 boss Epic GamesIf you’re wondering where the Cube Assassin is located in Fortnite, we’ve got a handy location guide to help you find the Season 8 boss – and tips on how to defeat her when you get there. Season 8 of Fortnite introduced a number of exciting features to the popular battle royale, including mysterious Sideways portals, a Battle Pass featuring Marvel villain Carnage, and a new boss called the Cube Assassin who’s difficult to pin down. Unlike the boss fights we’ve seen in previous seasons like The Mandalorian or Predator, the Cube Assassin can’t be found in a single area of the map: She’s constantly moving, and you could spend hours looking if you don’t know where to go. As well as being a fresh challenge for longtime Fortnite players, defeating the Cube Assassin is also a requirement to unlock its matching Character Style for the customizable Toona Fish skin, so there are two reasons to go after this boss fight. Where to find the Cube Assassin in Fortnite Season 8 You won’t find the Cube Assassin roaming around the Island like in previous boss fights. Instead, you’ll have to make your way to one of the purple Sideways Anomalies dotted around the map and enter it. There are two ways to enter the Sideways: Sideways Zones, which look like huge orange domes covering major POIs, and Sideways Anomalies, which are small purple portals that suck you in when you get close. Make sure you’re heading for the Anomalies to find the Cube Assassin, as you won’t find her in the Zones. You can spot them on the Fortnite map at the start of a match, so head straight there after leaving the Battle Bus. How to defeat the Cube Assassin in Fortnite Season 8 Once you’re inside a Sideways Anomaly, you’ll have to blast your way through several waves of Cube Monsters. Some throw projectiles or leave clouds of harmful gas when defeated, and it’s easy to get overwhelmed, so stay alert. Work your way through the second or third wave of Cube Monsters before the timer runs out, and there’s a chance the Cube Assassin will appear. If she doesn’t show up, you’ll have to leave and try another Sideways Anomaly instead. If you’re lucky enough to meet the Cube Assassin, get ready for a difficult battle. She has a Mythical variation of the Sideways Minigun and can put up a shield when alerted to danger – although she does have a weak spot on her back. It is possible to defeat the Cube Assassin by yourself, but attempting this battle with a Trio or Squad should make things easier, as one of you can distract the boss while the rest of the team attacks from behind to avoid her shields. The most important thing to remember is that you need to come prepared with weapons (and ideally a full shield) before fighting the Cube Assassin. If you don’t have a strong loadout with plenty of ammo, you’ll most likely be eliminated. Once the Cube Assassin has been eliminated, you’ll leave the Sideways Anomaly and she will respawn as a ghost who sells you Cube Monster Parts to upgrade your Sideways Weapons.

  • Where is Fortnite’s v11.11 update? – Dexerto

Where is Fortnite’s v11.11 update? Every week, Epic Games release some sort of update for their mega-popular Fortnite Battle Royale title, but with the v11.11 update scheduled to launch on November 12, there is currently no sign of it on any platforms. Epic Games use the weekly update model to help keep their game fresh, releasing major patches that add new weapons, items, or points-of-interest to the map, while often fixing some frustrating bugs that are affecting the title. These updates generally release every Tuesday, but on November 11, the developers confirmed that they were delaying the patch in a tweet posted on their official Fortnite Status account. Where is the Fortnite v11.11 update? On November 11, Epic Games confirmed that they would be releasing the v11.11 update for the game, stating that it would launch on November 12 at 4:00 AM ET (8:00 AM UTC) on all platforms. Just two hours later though, a second tweet went out that confirmed the patch had been postponed, and Fortnite fans would not be waking up on Tuesday morning with a brand-new patch to sink their teeth into. Hi, everyone. We are postponing the release of v11.11. We’ll keep you updated regarding when it’s planned to release. pic.twitter.com/s18ryjQkWL — Fortnite Status (@FortniteStatus) November 11, 2019 When is the Fortnite v11.11 update being released? Unfortunately, Epic Games have yet to announce when the v11.11 update will officially go live, with no confirmation in their tweet regarding the postponement. The developers add new Missions to the game every Thursday, so it’s likely we will see the update drop on November 14 ahead of the release of new challenges, although it’s possible that they could choose to set it live on Wednesday, November 13. Why is Fortnite v11.11 delayed? The reason behind the delay remains unknown at this time, but Epic have been forced to postpone updates in the past after finding major bugs or glitches that would seriously affect gameplay, in an attempt to address and fix them before it goes live. This update includes some major changes for Save The World, plus bug fixes for all of the game’s core modes, so it’s likely that an issue was discovered, and the developers are aiming to fix it before releasing it to the world.

All geyser locations in Fortnite Geysers are only located at the purple-colored southwest corner of the Fortnite map, which means you’ll want to head west of Reality Falls or Greasy Grove if you want to find one. You can see all of the current geyser locations marked on the Fortnite map below: We would recommend visiting Peril Pass, which is a landmark just west of the Reality Tree. You’ll find a row of geysers just waiting to erupt here, and it’s a little bit out of the way so it should be quiet. If you’re trying to complete the quest to use a Baller, a zipline, and a geyser in a single match, we’ve got guides to help you find Baller locations and zipline locations that should help. • Where to find hidden bunkers in Fortnite Season 6 – Dexerto

Where to find hidden bunkers in Fortnite Season 6 Epic GamesHidden bunkers are a long-running mystery in the world of Fortnite, and you might need to find them to complete weekly challenges. Here’s how to locate them all in Season 6. There are plenty of unanswered questions in Fortnite lore, but some of the biggest surround the game’s hidden bunkers. Who created them? What’s their purpose? And, more importantly, will players ever find out where they lead to? These mysterious metal tunnels have appeared in various locations throughout Fortnite history, but they’ve always remained sealed shut. Sometimes, like back in Season 5 Week 9, you needed to visit them to complete XP challenges. Finding them is no easy task, though. If you don’t know where you’re looking, they’re almost impossible to come across. Here’s everything we know about Fortnite’s hidden bunkers, including a handy location map so you can get to them in no time. What are hidden bunkers in Fortnite? Hidden bunkers have been around for a while on The Island. As we mentioned before, no one really knows what their purpose is or where they lead, so players have been left to come up with their own theories. Read More: Best landing spots in Fortnite Season 6 – In fact, Fortnite’s hidden bunkers were never officially acknowledged in the game until a Season 5 weekly challenge tasked players with finding one. When you visit them, they’ll simply be referred to with question marks. Some players have speculated that these hidden bunkers might be linked to the IO Guards that debuted back in Season 5, as they have underground lairs known as Surface Hubs. Or, they could be a way off The Island. Who knows! Fortnite hidden bunker locations There are actually three hidden bunkers you can find across The Island, and they’re all pretty far apart from one another, so choose the one that’s closest to your favorite landing spot and head for that one. You should be able to visit any one of these three locations and the challenge will be ticked off straight away. You can’t actually open these hidden bunkers, and the reason for their existence remains unknown. We’ve marked them all on the Fortnite Season 6 map above, and there are detailed instructions on finding each individual hidden bunker below, which should make it pretty easy to complete. Hidden bunker 1 The first hidden bunker can be found underwater – see what we mean about them being hard to find? – just south of Holly Hedges, near the circle of stone stones where the cliff sticks out. Read More: Best Fortnite skins ever released – Swim around for a while, jumping in and out of the water, and you should eventually spot it under the surface. This one is probably the most difficult to go after, as you can only see it when underwater. Hidden bunker 2 A second hidden bunker can be found on the island northeast of Stealthy Stronghold. It’s underneath a pile of wood and debris behind the Unremarkable Shack landmark, so you’ll need to use your pickaxe to break through and reveal it. Hidden bunker 3 The third and final hidden bunker in Fortnite is located at a cliffside campsite east of Retail Row. You’ll know you’re in the right place because it has two tents: one white and one purple. The bunker is hidden under a large bush that you need to destroy between two nearby trees. If you’re looking for these hidden bunkers to tick off a weekly challenge in Fortnite, you should only need to visit one of them to complete the quest and earn yourself a bunch of XP for your efforts. • Where are the Fortnite Season 11 teasers? – Dexerto

Where are the Fortnite Season 11 teasers? Soupkid81, RedditUPDATE – Epic Games have finally released the Fortnite Battle Royale is on the brink of entering Season 11 with the game’s next major update just around the corner, but there’s been something very unusual about the buildup – a severe lack of teasers. Those who regularly drop from the Battle Bus into Epic Games’ popular battle royale game will know that the developers have been quick to throw out a handful of teasing images before the start of every season, in order to ramp up the anticipation. However, while during the course of Season 10 we might have been given hint after hint that a rocket is going to take off at the very end (October 13), there’s been no clear picture about where the destination will be for players in the future. Rumours had been circulating among dataminers and fans that the next update could very well see a brand new Fortnite map emerge – something that’s never happened before, but some sections of its fanbase have been calling for it for a considerable amount of time. Whether or not that comes to fruition or not remains to be seen, and even that’s due to a lack of teasers! The Visitor has been dropping a number of mysterious tape recordings around the map towards the end of the season – a possible hint towards new content – but it’s difficult to say where those clues are going just yet. They definitely are connected to the rocket project at Dusty Depot, though. In previous seasons, there have been four teasers released on Twitter by Fortnite’s official account, revealing some clues about what is about to happen. Yet, it looks almost certain that this isn’t going to happen this time around. The other loading screen, seen below, seems to show a revamped Battle Bus dropping players off at an island. Again, there’s a chance that this is a hint towards a new map, but that’s merely speculation at this stage. Epic Games have been uncharacteristically silent about upcoming developments in their game, leaving fans wondering what the next season could hold. One theory about this approach that’s gained some traction on social media has come from data miner ShiinaBR. They have suggested that the developers could be about to start Season 11 right after the upcoming rocket event, where many players will already be playing the game at that time – moving from event, to downtime, then to a new update. This would also prevent leaks spoiling the result of the event ahead of schedule, too, so it’s not entirely out of the question. Pulling it off smoothly, however, would be a challenge. I just thought about something: What if Fortnite WON’T post any teasers for the new Season this time? They’ll most likely release Season 11 directly after the live event as a “”Shadowdrop”

  • This infuriating Stormwing Plane bug is still plaguing Fortnite players – Dexerto

This infuriating Stormwing Plane bug is still plaguing Fortnite players Fortnite’s X-4 Stormwing has had its issues since being added to the game in Season 7, but when will Epic Games fix its latest bug? Players have been experiencing issues as they look to redeploy from the attack planes and the issue may cost players many Victory Royales in the future – if nothing is done about it. The bug prevents players from jumping out of the Stormwings in a safe way, which would usually be to redeploy their glider and fall to the floor to continue the game. Instead, the bug is causing pilots to exit the plane and fall to their death. For all of their faults, the Stormwings can create some incredible dogfight moments on Fortnite and that’s exactly what a player was looking for in the clip below. Streamer SKLZ_Dyldude quickly tries to exit the attack plane to prevent taking damage from any shots and pull the glider to maneuver himself to safety. Read More: Fortnite: Epic Games announce major improvement coming to Mounted Turrets in v7.20 update – However, once he realizes that things aren’t quite going to plan because of a redeploy bug, it’s fair to say that the player loses his cool in this hilarious clip. This is not the only issue that Fortnite fans have highlighted of late, though, with many angry players bewildered about a change made to the Deadfire skin – potentially because of a bug. With it no longer changing color, some fans have been calling for a refund. “This should really be addressed by now” Mayo-over-miracle posted to Reddit. “I paid money for a product. And, suddenly the product is altered making it way worse. Bug or not, fix it or refund my money Epic.” There has been no official word from Epic Games on either of these bugs so far. Will they be resolved in the next update?

  • When will the v11.40 update be released in Fortnite? Expected patch notes – Dexerto

When will the v11.40 update be released in Fortnite? Expected patch notes There has been a noticeable lack of updates over the past few weeks in Fortnite Chapter 2, and players are wondering when the next patch, expected to be v11.40, will roll out. A lot of players have been complaining that Fortnite has grown a bit stale during the winter season, despite the currently-ongoing Winterfest in-game holiday event. A major reason for this is the fact that Epic Games haven’t released any updates since v11.31 back on December 18. This means that, by the time the next patch rolls around, at least three weeks would have elapsed since the previous one. Why haven’t Epic been putting out any updates? It’s because all of their developers and employees are on break for the holidays – the third winter in a row since the game’s release that they’ve taken time off. However, last year, they scheduled two content updates to roll out during their two weeks vacation, so it’s certainly odd that they didn’t do that this time around. When will the next Fortnite update get released? Most of the indications are that the next Fortnite update to go live either on Tuesday, January 7 or Wednesday, January 8. The Winterfest event is set to wrap up on January 7, which would be the perfect opportunity to inject some life into the game with a major update. It remains to be seen whether Epic will follow the event up right away with a patch, or wait a day and release it on Wednesday. There’s also a chance that Epic might hold off on the update until the following week, releasing it on January 14-15, which is what they did last year after taking a whole four weeks off. However, as mentioned above, they released two content updates during that span, and since that hasn’t been the case this winter, they might not want to wait that long, especially with Winterfest coming to an end. What to expect from the first Fortnite update of 2020 While the actual number for the next update hasn’t been announced, the general indication is that it’ll be big enough to be the next number up, which would be v11.40. We already know that it will bring an end to Winterfest, the in-game blizzards, and the Star Wars Lightsabers that have been in the core default modes since December 14. There are also a plethora of issues currently being investigated by Epic, so there’s a good chance that they’ll find and release fixes for at least some of them. As for new content, they could look into releasing a new weapon, since there have already been a couple leaked that still haven’t been added to the game. The devs could also tweak some of the current items and guns, although if they do, that’ll be left for the players to discover since they haven’t been disclosing those changes in their “patch notes.”

  • When will the frustrating Fortnite pickaxe weak spot bug be fixed? – Dexerto

When will the frustrating Fortnite pickaxe weak spot bug be fixed? Epic GamesThe Fortnite community has grown frustrated over a pickaxe bug that slows down the process of gathering materials. Epic Games is well aware of the issue, but just when will it be fixed? Since the transition to a new physics engine through Fortnite’s 11.50 update, players have been unable to gather building materials as efficiently as before. A number of game-breaking issues have risen to the surface since the transition, even fundamental aspects of Fortnite’s core gameplay loop have been impacted and as a result, could cost even the most experienced veterans their next win. What is the issue? The outcome of a Fortnite match can be determined purely by the number of building materials a player has at their disposal during a late-game fight. Therefore, stacking resources is a pivotal aspect of gameplay in Epic’s battle royale. Targetting weak points on various surfaces while using the pickaxe is supposed to provide a faster means of acquiring resources. However, since the update, weak points have not been working as intended. Rather than dealing an increased amount of damage to the surface and breaking it at essentially twice the speed of an ordinary swing, a new bug makes the weak points all but useless. When will it be fixed? While the issue has been prevalent across seemingly all platforms since the update on February 5, the complication appears too big to resolve with a quick hotfix. Instead, Epic Games indicated that the frustrating bug will be removed from the game in the next Fortnite patch. “We’re aware that Weak Point hits while harvesting aren’t always registering,” a February 8 statement outlined. “This will be resolved in our next release.” While no clear date has been provided as to when the next patch may be released, it could be likely the issue is wiped out with the Season 2 update on February 20. We’re aware that Weak Point hits while harvesting aren’t always registering. This will be resolved in our next release:https://t.co/mRVwJSTnRz — Fortnite Status (@FortniteStatus) February 7, 2020 Not the only issue that has been frustrating the Fortnite community of late, the transition to a brand new physics engine has come with a number of unintended complications. From players being able to phase through walls to motorboats sinking under the map, there’s certainly a great deal for Epic to resolve in the next major patch.

  • When will the Fortnite Deadfire skin bug be fixed? – Dexerto

When will the Fortnite Deadfire skin bug be fixed? Epic Games has announced many bug fixes in recent weeks, but many players are still bemused as to why their Deadfire skin has seemingly changed and nothing has been done about it. Many paying customers have purchased the reactive outfit skin, which would previously change colors, for 2,000 V-Bucks from the Item Shop. But now, they’re wondering whether or not there was any point in buying it, after realizing that the color changing feature they paid for has actually been removed. The issue has been around for a few weeks now and disgruntled customers have been posting about it on the Fortnite BR subreddit, expressing their concerns. “So, I spent 2000 V-Bbucks back in October for the Deadfire skin because I loved how the skin evolves into the ghost form, however, it no longer changes colors! I really hope this is a bug and not on purpose” said user Memeist1. Other fans, though, have went a step further and think that Epic should be either looking to fix it as soon as possible, or take other measures. “This should really be addressed by now” Mayo-over-miracle posted to the same thread. “I paid money for a product. And, suddenly the product is altered making it way worse. Bug or not, fix it or refund my money Epic.” Read More: Fortnite: Major balancing changes coming in third v7.10 content update, including the return of a vaulted weapon With changes on the horizon, as the third v7.10 content update is on the way, many gamers will be expecting the developer to fix this issue as soon as possible. However, there has been no official word from Epic about this issue – specifically – as of this time, leaving many fans questioning whether this is a bug or an intentional change to the skin.

  • When will Fortnite Save the World be free-to-play? Epic Games announce significant delay – Dexerto

When will Fortnite Save the World be free-to-play? Epic Games announce significant delay Epic Games, the developers of Fortnite, have confirmed that the ‘Save the World’ version of the game will become free-to-play in 2018, but they are committed to making it happen in the future. Anyone hoping for the previously announced switch to a free-to-play model before 2019 will have been left disappointed by Epic’s most recent ‘Save the World State of Development’ blog post, but it certainly looks like we won’t be waiting for too much longer. “We decided to move the free-to-play launch of Save the World out of this year. We’re working on a broad set of features, reworks, and backend system scaling we believe are needed to go free-to-play,” the developers state. They went on to explain that they are taking their time in building a free-to-play model because they want to get it right: “Save the World has grown consistently since our launch in July 2017 and Fortnite overall has experienced unprecedented growth. Scaling up for the legions of player heroes who will be joining the fight is key to providing an excellent experience. This applies to all of our players, old and new, so we’re taking the time to get this right.” Read More: Data miners reveal more details about Fortnite’s Leaky Lake event and the mysterious portal – Save the World is a co-op player versus environment (PVE) survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world where players can collect resources, build forts, construct weapons and more. While Fortnite Battle Royale is the title that most people think of when discussing Fortnite, Save the World was actually the original mode, released in July of 2017, and costs around £35 in the UK and $40 in the US.

  • When will Lightsabers be removed from Fortnite? – Dexerto

When will Lightsabers be removed from Fortnite? As part of all of the Star Wars x Fortnite festivities, lightsabers were added into the game and we now know when we can expect them to exit. Lightsabers can be extremely powerful in the right hands as they can deflect bullets and dish out a lot of damage to players and structures alike. Many players have grown tired of seeing them and hope they don’t stick around in the game for much longer. The bad news is they won’t be out before 2019 wraps up. However, there won’t be much longer of a wait from there. When are Lightsabers being taken out? According to prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX, the lightsabers are currently on track to be removed near the start of January. Just seven days into the new year, we should be seeing the lightsabers removed, which means January 7 will be the date to look out for. Keep in mind this is just a leak for the time being and is subject to change, so keep an eye out for the official announcement. As of now the Lightsabers are scheduled to be removed from default modes on January 7! — HYPEX (@HYPEX) December 29, 2019 If the date is correct, it means you’ll definitely want to get all of your lightsaber swinging in before that, and that also goes for completing any challenge that requires the use of one. For those of you out there who are still a fan of the Jedi weapon, then you still have some time to play around with them. Whenever Fortnite adds something in from a third-party, it usually only sticks around for a little while before disappearing. However, once they leave the game doesn’t necessarily mean they will be gone forever. We’ve seen John Wick’s Bounty LTM return in December, months after it was in the game. On top of that, his skin made another return to the shop. What this means is maybe we’ll be seeing all of the Star Wars skins along with the lightsabers return to Fortnite at a later date. A good time would be for the Blu-Ray release as that will be the next time hype for Star Wars will be ramping back up. An official release date has not been announced but it’s typically around four months after release of the film, so April seems likely.

  • When will Fortnite return to the Apple App Store for iOS devices? – Dexerto

When will Fortnite return to the Apple App Store for iOS devices? Epic GamesWith Epic Games and Apple still butting heads, when can mobile users expect to see Fortnite back in the App Store? The latest United States district court ruling has given us a rough idea of when we can expect to see it back. [jwplayer uZppK6qI] When Epic made the move to implement a direct payment method for V-Bucks on mobile, Apple responded swiftly. The two major corporations have been locking horns in legal battles ever since. Fortnite was removed from the App Store and obviously, the player base has been dropping significantly with each passing day. Despite the developers trying to get the battle royale reinstated ahead of Season 4, Epic hasn’t had any luck as of yet. However, the latest courtroom update has given us new insight on when we can expect to see the game make its grand return to iOS devices. Judge Yvonne Gonzales Rogers of the Northern District of California pushed out new rulings on October 9. Fortnite itself won’t be allowed back on the App Store amidst the legal drama. With the trial not commencing until May 3, 2021, the battle royale won’t be back until next year at the earliest. The original issue centered around Epic’s direct method of buying V-Bucks on mobile devices. This bypassed mandatory rules in which a good chunk of every purchase would go into Apple’s pockets. Unless Epic decides to drop this and revert back, mobile gamers will have to wait for the trial in May. If you’re anxiously waiting to drop into the battle royale on your iPhone, you may not want to hold your breath. This leaves us a seven-month window from the time of writing. That’s the absolute minimum wait if an agreement is reached near-instantly in the trial. It may seem like doom and gloom for those with Apple devices. However, the latest rulings did come with some good news. Epic’s Unreal Engine will not be impacted, meaning that other games can proceed on the App Store without hassle. “Epic Games is grateful that Apple will continue to be barred from retaliating against Unreal Engine,” the company said. While Epic is clearly relieved, the developers are still adamant about putting an end to “Apple’s anti-competitive behavior.” With Fortnite still months out from a potential return to mobile devices, now could be the best time to swap over. Console and PC gamers haven’t missed a beat and next-gen versions of the game will even come boasting graphical upgrades.

  • When is building coming back to Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2? – Dexerto

When is building coming back to Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2? Epic GamesWondering when building is coming back to Fortnite? Epic Games removed the ability to build in Chapter 3 Season 2, but it didn’t last long. Here’s all we know. Over the years, as it has led the way in the battle royale market, Fortnite has undergone some pretty radical changes. New items and mechanics have been introduced that have turned Epic Games’ powerhouse title on its head. However, the one constant has been the unique building mechanic. It isn’t something seen in Fortnite’s battle royale rivals, as players are able to construct small or massive structures to give themselves a leg-up on the competition. Some players have previously wondered what would happen if Epic removed the building mechanic from the game. Well, with the arrival of Chapter 3 Season 2, they’ve got their wish as building was removed. Contents Did Fortnite remove building? – When did building return to Fortnite? – Will there be a permanent no building mode? – Did Fortnite remove building? That’s right, if you’re not up to date on your Fortnite knowledge, those pesky one-by-one boxes that your enemies have used to bamboozle you, were no more – at least for a week or so. The mechanic remained in competitive, arena, creative, and Team Rumble playlists, but a new “Zero Build” mode is ideal for anyone looking to avoid mid-match DIY sessions. When did building return to Fortnite? Building returned to Fortnite on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. This means that after nine days of no building, players could go back to constructing makeshift cover. Will there be a permanent ‘no building’ mode in Fortnite? Although building is back in Fortnite, some players called for a permanent ‘no building’ mode to be added to the game. Epic has heard those calls, and has confirmed that Zero Build, an optional mode going forward, will offer the same no-build gameplay. It arrived on March 29, 2022, and there’s no end date yet. An accompanying blog post says: “Without building, all players have the recharging Overshield as your first line of defense in Zero Build. Zip up Ascenders to access Blimps or use Mantling to get the high-ground over your opponents. Don’t forget to Sprint between cover on your way to a Victory Royale!” For more on Fortnite, check out our Fortnite page for the latest news and guides.

  • When is Travis Scott skin back in Fortnite? Return to Item Shop rumored – Dexerto

When is Travis Scott skin back in Fortnite? Return to Item Shop rumored Epic GamesA well-known Fortnite leaker hinted that the exclusive Travis Scott skin might be returning to the game soon to celebrate the rapper’s very own holiday. It’s probably safe to say the Travis Scott concert set the gold standard for in-game Fortnite events, with more than 12 million people logging on to watch the show. Soon after it happened in April 2020, the limited-time skin that was also available quickly became one of the hottest looks from the Item Shop. Like many of the best skins in Epic’s battle royale though, Travis soon disappeared from the store, and fans who missed out have been waiting for its return ever since. That wait might be coming to an end though, if new rumors are to be believed. On February 5, Fortnite leaker @HYPEX posted on Twitter that the Travis Scott skin could be coming back for a limited time to mark the rapper’s holiday — literally called “Travis Scott Day.” “Travis Scott *MIGHT* return on February 10,” HYPEX wrote in the tweet that quickly went viral. “Because that’s considered the Travis Scott Day in some places!” Sure enough in certain parts of the US, like Missouri City, Texas where Scott was raised, February 10 is officially known as “Travis Scott Day.” This shouldn’t be confused with his other holiday (yes, he has two) called “Astroworld Day” celebrated on November 18, and named after his 2018 album. • When is Zone Wars coming back to Fortnite? – Dexerto

When is Zone Wars coming back to Fortnite? When Zone Wars came to Fortnite it was met with a lot of excitement, and ever since the mode disappeared, fans have been wondering when it’ll come back. Not only were these used as learning experiences, but they were also a lot of fun to play with friends. That’s why when Epic Games made the decision to remove the mode, it was met with a lot of sadness from the playerbase. However, it’s looking like that’s all going to be changing in the very near future. According to Fortnite leaker HYPEX, Zone Wars will be coming back soon, and with it will come all of the chaotic madness players have come to expect from the mode. There’s not a set date for when Zone Wars will return, if this leak is even correct, so you have to make sure your expectations are tempered until we get official word from Epic themselves. Maps *as of now* are: (they might change them) – Desert created by JotaPeGame – Downhill River created by Enigma – Vortex created by Zeroyahero – Colosseum created by Jesgran— HYPEX (@HYPEX) December 16, 2019 According to the leak, there will be four maps coming with the return – Desert, Downhill River, Vortex, and Colosseum. Like the maps that were in the game before, these will be made by the Fortnite community. Epic Games have shown a desire to show off community creations in the past, like they did when The Block debuted at the end of 2018. Of course, The Block, like Zone Wars, is gone from the game. While there don’t seem to be any plans to ever bring The Block back that we know about, Zone Wars is looking like something we can expect soon. When Zone Wars first came into Fortnite as an LTM, it did so with a lengthy set of challenges, and fans will no doubt be hoping for something similar again. Challenges have become the best way to level up in Fortnite, and with so many sets being available, there seems to be no shortage of things to do in the game. Hopefully, if and when Zone Wars return, we get a fresh set of objectives to complete.

  • When is TheGrefg’s Fortnite skin coming out? Release date, first look, price, & more – Dexerto

When is TheGrefg’s Fortnite skin coming out? Release date, first look, price, & more TheGrefg/Epic GamesSpanish content creator and Team Heretics co-owner TheGrefg is next-in-line to receive a skin as a part of the Fortnite Icon Series, and we’ve got everything you need to know about it. As the Fortnite seasons have unfolded, Epic Games have linked up with some pop culture icons. Star Wars, Batman, Marvel’s Avengers, Stranger Things, and The Walking Dead have all featured, just to name a few. While fans have been clamoring to see more crossovers with TV, movies, and music stars, others have been wanting to see their favorite YouTubers, Twitch streamers, and even Instagram stars get a skin of their own. Ninja, Loserfruit, and Lachlan have all been given their own cosmetic sets, and Spanish streamer TheGrefg is joining them next after months of waiting from his legion of fans. So, here’s what you need to know. TheGrefg Fortnite skin release date Just like with Ninja, Loserfruit, and Lachlan, TheGrefg’s skin will take inspiration from the Spanish streamer. Not just that, but so will his additional cosmetics – a pickaxe and an emote. As for when it’ll be released, that’s going to be on January 16, 2021. The Team Heretics co-owner revealed it all during his record-breaking Twitch stream where he clocked in at over 2.4 million viewers. The skin itself will be a shirtless warrior, so it’s different than Ninja looking like an actual ninja but ultimately it does look like TheGrefg. TheGrefg Fortnite skin & bundle price If you want to get the skin, it shouldn’t cost all that much to get either. Previous skins have cost 1,500 VBucks by themselves, with other cosmetics being available separately. Everything related to TheGrefg should be thrown in a bundle too, and will likely save you a few VBucks against buying them all separately. The Ninja bundle cost 2,000, Lachlan 2,200, and Loserfruit 1,800, so TheGrefg’s will be similar to those. Once the skin eventually releases, it won’t be around forever, however. There will be a limited-time in which you can buy it from the Item Shop, but this will be around four days. So, it should be out of the Item Shop after the January 20 update. Though, you will be able to get ahead of time – providing you win his Floor is Love tournament. So, be sure to check all the details for that here.

  • When is the Fortnite x Birds of Prey crossover with Harley Quinn skin? – Dexerto

When is the Fortnite x Birds of Prey crossover with Harley Quinn skin? Epic Games/WB PicturesEpic Games have already started teasing their next Fortnite crossover event with Birds of Prey and Harley Quinn, but when will it happen in-game? Here’s what we know so far. One major aspect of Fortnite that has helped solidify its place as one of, if not the, most popular games in the world has been Epic Games’ ability to place real-world events and pop-culture into the battle royale. When the holiday season is upon us, players have found gifts and snow across the map. There have also been crossovers with hits like Marvel’s Avengers, Netflix’s Stranger Things, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Yet, Epic isn’t stopping anytime soon. The newest crossover with Birds of Prey and Harley Quinn is seemingly already in the works ahead of the movie’s release. When is the Fortnite x Birds of Prey event? With the new Birds of Prey movie releasing worldwide on February 7, 2020, we can expect to see the crossover event in Fortnite happen sometime before or alongside that date. As of now, the exact start date is unknown, but going off Epic’s similar crossover, there is some build-up. The Star Wars crossover kicked off six days before the movie was released and carried on for sometime after. Similarly, the Avengers are got underway one day before Endgame was released and lasted a few days later. Birds of Prey x Fortnite Collab incoming Expect a Harley Quinn skin releasing around February 7th with the release of the movie. https://t.co/70sU5Oh2mQ — Fortnite: Battle Royale Leaks (@FNBRLeaks) January 24, 2020 Will there be a limited-time mode or challenges? The last time that Epic did a crossover with DC Comics was to celebrate Batman Day back in September. With Season 10 then having new locations with every update, it was the perfect time to release a mini Gotham City onto the map. However, it’s unknown if Birds of Prey will get a full-blown crossover event like previously. Batman, Star Wars, and Avengers all had challenges and themed in-game items, among other things. What other skins could there be? Seeing as Harley Quinn was singled out by the teasing Fortnite tweet, it seems pretty likely that there will be a skin or cosmetics bundle for her at the very least. There are plenty of other characters in Birds of Prey – such as Huntress and even Black Mask – but with Harley being the most recognizable, it at least makes sense to see her in-game. The start date of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2 has already been confirmed as February 20, meaning that players will still have time to experience whatever comes from Fortnite x Birds of Prey for some time. Should Epic Games make a further announcement, you can be sure to find the latest news and updates via Dexerto.

  • When is the Fortnite World Cup? Qualifiers for the 2019 season of Fortnite esports – Dexerto

When is the Fortnite World Cup? Qualifiers for the 2019 season of Fortnite esports The Fortnite World Cup was first announced back in June of 2018, but there hasn’t been much news about it since, with Epic Games’ attention firmly on the Summer and Fall Skirmishes. With a total of $100,000,000 in prize pools pledged by Epic Games (Around $18 million of which has already been handed out), there is a lot to play for, and anyone can play. Epic has confirmed that they will not be selling teams or franchises, or allowing third party tournament organizers to do so either, as they want the game to be inclusive for all players, not just those on a pro team. But, you will still need to be good enough to make it in, and that’s where the qualifiers for the World Cup come in. Initially, Epic stated that Fortnite World Cup qualifiers would begin in Fall 2018, but that has yet to happen, and the Fortnite website has now been updated to announce a delay to the qualifiers. Qualifiers for the Fortnite World Cup will now begin in 2019. No exact date or season is given, but it is likely to be early 2019, as the World Cup proper is set for late 2019. new in-game tournaments mode, which looks like it will be the best practice for the World Cup.Currently, these tournament modes are mainly Solo and Duo, which is interesting given that Epic also stated that “Fortnite World Cup play will focus on Solos and Duos.” Perhaps this new tournament mode in-game will perform a similar function to the ‘Solo Showdown LTM’, which essentially acted as a qualifier for the Skirmish events. Ticking off three of these Daily Tasks will earn you the Grand Champion Spray. Moreover, the top three NBA teams at the end of the event will secure some goodies for every player repping their banners. Leaked Fortnite NBA event rewards At the time of writing, Epic is yet to confirm any details surrounding the potential NBA event. However, seeing as this information spilled directly out of the game’s files, there’s a good chance an announcement is imminent. Keep your eyes peeled over the coming days as Fortnite’s NBA crossover should get underway shortly.

  • When is Fortnite’s J Balvin skin out? ICON series first look, price & more – Dexerto

When is Fortnite’s J Balvin skin out? ICON series first look, price & more Epic Games, J BalvinFortnite is quickly becoming the place to be for musicians, as the developers are teasing the addition of Latino superstar J Balvin. The Rift Tour featuring Ariana Grande became one of Fortnite’s biggest events yet. Displaying Epic Games’ knack for showmanship, the Rift Tour is another example of interactive marketing dominating the gaming landscape. While fans of Grande enjoyed the albeit brief performance, others were far more critical. Now, the developers are increasing the hype for their next artist dropping into the island. Keeping things in the arena of pop, it seems the Prince of Reggaeton himself is arriving soon an actual skin. J Balvin Fortnite skin release date The pop star initially dropped into Fortnite with his own Halloween-themed performance in 2020. The Afterlife event was a hit and players were able to get their hands on an alternate style for the Party Trooper skin, but they couldn’t look like Balvin himself. Following the v17.40 update, leakers like HYPEX and DrCacahuette were able to get their hands on an early look at the upcoming J Balvin skin that is set to come with three different styles. Though, if you didn’t get the original Party Trooper skin style, there is no second chance here. These new skins are an actual representation of the singer. After Ariana Grande made waves a few weeks ago, some players thought other pop personalities like Dua Lipa would follow suit to host their own virtual concert, though it’s J Balvin who gets the spotlight first. Here are all the J Balvin ICON skin variants in one image. 2 images to the left are by @DrCacahuette so thanks to him! pic.twitter.com/Vvriy6WKw2 — HYPEX (@HYPEX) August 18, 2021 Responding quicker than usual when it comes to leaks, the official Fortnite account joined in on the fun. Posting a simple yet blatant hint in the form of J Balvin’s insignia, the hype already started to pour in. J Balvin’s bundle arrives August 26, 2021, at 8PM ET / 1AM BST. Players will also be able to compete in the J Balvin cup on August 24, to unlock exclusive rewards. The “La Fiesta” event begins on August 26, concluding on September 9. Made by community member Iscariote, the maze-like event is sure to please J Balvin mega-fans. J Balvin Fortnite skin price As the artist will likely come with various cosmetic variants and other goodies, Balvin will probably cost around 2,400 V-Bucks (£15.99/$19.99). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPfP7hU8GGs The next season will have a lot to live up to after introducing DC heroes such as Superman, Wonder Woman, and The Flash, on top of the evolving musical line-up. We can’t wait to see who arrives next.

  • Relive the Fortnite Galactus live event: full replay, HD images, recap – Dexerto

Relive the Fortnite Galactus live event: full replay, HD images, recap Epic Games/MarvelFortnite’s Galactus Nexus War finale event is finally over and it was packed full of a ton of Marvel-themed content. Here’s what went down during the insanely hyped event that closed off Season 4 of the popular game. For a while now, Epic Games, Marvel, and the Fortnite community have been hyping up a brand new event to close out Chapter 2, Season 4 of Fortnite. Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds, had been slowly inching his way towards the island all season and on December 1, 2020, he finally arrived. But what happened once he finally showed up to the Fortnite island? Did players have to fight him like we originally thought? Here’s what you need to know about what went down during the Nexus War finale event in case you missed it. Fortnite Galactus Nexus War finale event recap All in all, the event itself was pretty short, clocking in at a little over 10 minutes when all was said and done. Still, there was a ton that happened during that span. Once the in-game timer reached zero, the giant Galactus made his final push to the island. After declaring that he hungered, he destroyed the Helicarrier starting location with ease, sending you and all the other players flying across the sky. HOLY SMOKES THIS FORTNITE EVENT IS INSANE 🤯 (via @nickmercs) pic.twitter.com/juYmYe41H3 — Dexerto (@Dexerto) December 1, 2020 Fortunately, Iron Man-himself flew in as you got close to hitting the ground, handing you a jetpack and telling you that it’s time to stop Galactus. Before you had a chance to do anything, however, the massive villain started consuming Zero Point, which started a “full reality collapse”. After being transported by Iron Man, you reappeared, in first-person, inside of a Battle Bus decked out in weaponry and explosives. From that point on, your goal was to fly the Buses into Galactus and have him consume them, which ultimately sent him back to “where he came from.” A few Marvel characters even made small appearances, including Thor himself (who was one of the main characters this season) and even Wolverine, who helped you in the fight against Galactus. After finally destroying a plethora of drones and getting close enough, Galactus got sent back to where he came from, you were teleported away to safety, and the event ended. Of course, it wouldn’t be Marvel if there wasn’t a “post-credits scene.” After the event was over and Galactus got taken care of, players got a shot of Jonesy in his office, who wakes up suddenly before the screen says that the story is to be continued in Season 5. Re-watch the entire Fortnite Galactus event Unfortunately, if you were hoping to catch a re-run of the event inside of Fortnite itself, it seems like that’s not going to be possible. Epic Games has confirmed that it was a “one-time-only” event so if you missed out, you won’t be able to experience it again in-game. However, we did record the entire experience, so can rewatch it as many times as you want: What’s next? Now that the Galactus event is over, Epic Games have confirmed that the Season 5 update will be released at 9 PM PT / 12 AM ET / 5 AM GMT on Wednesday, December 2, with the downtime expected to last all the way up to 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET / 9 AM GMT. After that, the brand new season will kick off, and Fortnite fans will get to see what the devs have in store for them to enjoy!

  • When is Fortnite update v10.30? Patch release and what to expect – Dexerto

When is Fortnite update v10.30? Patch release and what to expect Fortnite Battle Royale players are waiting eagerly to see the impacts of Rift Beacons and the potential return of some highly popular points of interest, but has the patch to bring them back been delayed? Seasoned veterans of the battle royale title, particularly those that follow the game’s official Twitter account, will be aware by now that during the course of Season 10 we’ve come to expect an announcement of update release times every Monday. However, that wasn’t the case on September 9 as information on the v10.30 patch never came. So, where is it and what can we expect? Fan-favorite POIs coming back to Fortnite? Previously in Season 10, there had been a delay to patch v10.10. The common denominator between the upcoming update and the one previous is that major map changes look to be in the works – bringing back Retail Row in the past – and even more are expected this time around. Two new Rift Beacons have activated at Paradise Palms and on the frozen lake in the snow biome, meaning there’s a very high chance that the return of both Greasy Grove and Moisty Mire is on the cards. The end of Borderlands in Fortnite With such a major change being made to the map, it’s fairly possible that this might have caused a delay for Epic Games. The theorists among us might point towards the ending of the Borderlands crossover, which saw a brand new Pandora Rift Zone added to the desert biome, and suggest that the delay could be a result of adding some fresh IT Chapter Two content – a crossover that’s been teased with some big clues already. Possible v10.30 patch release date Nevertheless, as the Borderlands event draws to a close and with two old locations seemingly coming back all inside a weekly update, there’s a good chance that patch v10.30 will have to wait until September 11 to be added to the game. Once we know when it’s coming, though, we’ll be the first to let you know.

  • When is Fortnitemares Halloween event? Start date, Jetpack, Broom Box – Dexerto

When is Fortnitemares Halloween event? Start date, Jetpack, Broom Box Epic GamesEpic Games are ramping up towards the release of a Fortnitemares Halloween event in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4. With new skins, locations, consumables, items and weapons expected to roll out, let’s take a look at everything we know so far. As is normally the case, data miners have been hard at work looking for spooky skins and features that may appear this Halloween season. Unlike any other in history, the holiday is likely to be very much an indoors event for people given the global health situation, so fans will be expecting developers to really push the boat out. Here, we’re going to look at all of the confirmed and leaked details revealed so far. Fortnitemares 2020 start date In years gone by, Fortnitemares has always landed in the final week of October. So, you would expect the same to happen in 2020, even if it’s been a year of breaking what’s considered normal. We would expect the event to start up on October 27-28 this year. Fortnitemares skins and cosmetics As of October 16, there have been no confirmed Fortnitemares skins per say, although some were leaked following the arrival of patch v14.30. These can be seen below: Fortnite Halloween consumables leaked Leaker HYPEX has stumbled upon a gold mine’s worth of details in the game files, where consumables are concerned. Firstly, he showed off these new Candy Buckets, which the leaker says can be used to pass on different items. These Candy Buckets will be used in Fortnitemares to give these consumables (Pepper Ming, Hop Drop, Candy Corn, Jelly Bean, Thermal Taffy), also the sound you hear in the vid is the sound when you eat the Candy Corn consumable. pic.twitter.com/tpFy9af3Tw — HYPEX (@HYPEX) October 14, 2020 The leaker also listed off the following as consumables expected to roll out with the event: Wbroom – Pepper Ming – Hop Drop – Candy Corn – Jelly Bean – Thermal Taffy – Honey Pot – The Honey Pot was found by FortTory, seen below. a honeypot jar got added under consumables pic.twitter.com/Z2ePeCQ1mz — FortTory – Fortnite leaks & news (@FortTory) October 13, 2020 Just like candy, it looks like we will be able to collect them around the map and have them make funny sounds in the process. Fortnitemares weapons and items Events like this have come and gone in the past, usually with the addition of new guns and items. This year, HYPEX has discovered a new shotgun – which they have confirmed is actually unfinished as of the v14.30 update – has been added to the files. Should it be added with the new patch, a first look of the new shotty shouldn’t be far away, though it may roll out later. An unfinished shotgun got added this update with the codename “”Swing”” — HYPEX (@HYPEX) October 13, 2020 Aside from that, nine other unfinished weapons were added to the files, mentioned in another post from the data miner. These may be for Save The World or Battle Royale, so only time will tell for each of them. Leaked weapons Big Money – Brrrst – Thermal – Tracking – Slurp – Frozen – Run N Gun – Dragon Breath Sniper – Storm Scout – Leaked items/vehicles Broom Box – Jetpack – The jetpack was found by Mang0e on Twitter, who also claimed other vehicles will soon need to be refuelled. As noted here, it could have something to do with the Iron Man jetpacks, previously found. A New “”Cosmos”” Jetpack is in the works, might be related to the Iron Man jetpacks I announced last update. Could be for the new LTM, or smth else. JumpBoostPack.Cosmos.FortJumpBoostSet: Fuel = 100.0 ReserveFuel = 700.0 FuelBurnRate = 0.0 FuelRegenRate = 12.0 UpwardThrust = 600.0— Mang0e (@Mang0e_) October 13, 2020 It’s also worth noting that these may be just codenames. When, or if, they are added to Fortnite they may debut with different names. Leaked POI and biome sounds Not only do we have information on potential weapon and consumable additions, but it appears that some audio files have also leaked. Below, you can hear several short noises that appear to be spooky themed for Halloween. It could also be our biggest hint yet that a new POI is coming soon, because nowhere on the map sounds like this – that’s for sure. Some new Biome/POI sounds got added this update in the BR sounds folder, i have no idea what these will be used for but they sound like they’re for Halloween, and they have different sounds for Wood, Brick & Metal areas. pic.twitter.com/gqbJk98iE6 — HYPEX (@HYPEX) October 14, 2020 Not only that, but FortTory also discovered a POI called “HeyBoo” has appeared in the files. This, they say, could be in line to be added during Fortnitemares. there are files referencing to a new POI called HeyBoo “”Athena.Location.POI.HeyBoo”” my guess its encrypted or it will be fully added next update for Fortnitemares. — FortTory – Fortnite leaks & news (@FortTory) October 13, 2020 Once we hear more details on the event and confirmed features to be added, we’ll update this article so you can stay in the loop.

Start date, prize pool, more Epic GamesFortnite’s FNCS event for Chapter 2, Season 5 is not that far away, and some details have already been revealed by Epic Games. So, here’s everything you need to know. Over the course of the Fortnite season, Epic Games has rolled out plenty of competitive tournaments for players to get involved. These have ranged from the daily cash cups to the Fortnite World Cup. With the 2021 season getting underway, attention for players – who have recently voiced concerns about the state of the competitive Fortnite scene, especially with some random prizes being given out – turns to the FNCS, otherwise known as the Fortnite Championship Series. Epic Games previously dished out some details about the 2021 season schedule, including the fact there will be no World Cup – once again – and everything will, for the most part, be online based. FNCS Season 5 start date In the case of the FNCS, which is the first big event of the 2021 season, that will get underway on Thursday, February 4th, and will run for four weeks – with everything coming to a close on February 28th. Prize pool for FNCS Season 5 In terms of the prize pool, Epic Games have confirmed that they will be giving away $20 million worth of prizes across FNCS related events. 2021 will consist of four separate seasons that will each be allocated a $3 million prize pool. The additional $8 million will be up for grabs at the end of the season where Epic will host events for the best players in the FNCS. Coupled with this, the event will bring the Fortnite community together, seeing each platform competing alongside one another for the prize pools. • When is Fortnite Season 4? Season 3 end date, theme, and more – Dexerto

When is Fortnite Season 4? Season 3 end date, theme, and more Epic GamesFortnite Season 4 is expected to start once the summer comes to a close, but what is in store for the next season? Here is everything we know so far. After weeks of waiting, Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 3 launched on June 17 – taking the Top Secret theme from Season 2 and changing it to Splash Down. As leaks predicted, the map has been flooded with water and the theme is all about dealing with the water and waves. The latest season is almost at its end and as always, Fortnite fans are looking at what comes next. The simple answer is Season 4, but what will that entail? Here is everything we know so far. When does Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4 start? The end date for Fortnite’s Splash Down themed season is set for Thursday, August 27, according to Hypex. This means that the season should last for 71 days – a significantly shorter amount of time to previous seasons. As a result, Season 4 will be getting underway by the end of August. Original leaks claimed that the current season could be extended beyond this. Though a recent lawsuit has seemingly nipped this in the bud. Will Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 3 be extended? Reliable leaker ‘iFireMonkey’ pointed out on June 18 that, on top of the weekly challenges already set for Season 3, there are also additional sets in the game’s files that point to an extension. This could see the current season extended until around September 3, a week after the projected end date. These additional sets of challenges aren’t a new thing – plenty of Fortnite seasons have used Overtime Challenges before. Potential Season 3 Extension: Shocking, day 2 and here I am mentioning this lmao. The season is set to end on August 26th, however we have 12 weeks worth of challenges. Week 12 is on September 3rd, a week after Season 3 is supposed to end. pic.twitter.com/cjDG3tXdlQ — iFireMonkey (@iFireMonkey) June 18, 2020 A new lawsuit filed on August 17 appears to shut this theory down completely though. While original files may have been prepared to extend the season just in case, Epic appears to have outright confirmed the August 27 release date for Season 4 amidst legal strife with Apple. What will Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4’s theme be? As Season 3 comes to a close, there haven’t many signs pointing towards the theme for Season 4. These teasers usually come towards the very end of any given season so be on the lookout over the next few weeks. As the current season has evolved, water levels have gone back down – giving way to a pretty regular map again. From here, Epic has had an interesting layout to work with. Though there’s no telling how it will all lead into the next big seasonal update. Read More: Epic Games confirm Fortnite fixes coming in next Season 3 updates Spots like Rickety Rig and The Fortilla should, more than likely, be headed for the exit with Season 4 getting underway – while other more recent additions to the map will likely stick around for a bit longer. As Season 3 continues to progress and teasers for Season 4 begin to filter out, we’ll be sure to update this article with all the latest news and updates. For now though, be sure to enjoy all the changes that Season 3 has brought to the battle royale map, loot pool, and everything else.

Season 6 rumors, first look & more Epic GamesFortnite fans have been getting excited about a previously leaked skin known as ‘Kevin Couture’ but it hasn’t released just yet. However, that looks set to change with a new update. One of the biggest things that has helped vault Fortnite to the top of the gaming world has been the unique and creative skins that Epic Games has added. The developers have created a huge line of their own characters and had plenty of crossovers with the likes of Marvel, DC Comics, the NFL, Netflix, and beyond as well. With each new skin leak, fans get excited about what they could be getting their hands on in the future, and there hasn’t been a skin that has captured the attention like ‘Kevin Couture’ for quite some time. • When is custom matchmaking coming to Fortnite? Epic Games share promising news – Dexerto

When is custom matchmaking coming to Fortnite? Epic Games share promising news Publicly available custom matchmaking is a step closer to making its debut in Fortnite Battle Royale after Epic Games announced some exciting news on February 6. Melissa Dingmon of Epic Games has revealed that, for a limited time, they will be giving certain Fortnite content creators access to their test servers for custom matchmaking. “We will be experimentally opening up access to Fortnite’s custom matchmaking to test our services with a limited number of Creators,” she tweeted. As for who exactly will be given access has not yet been disclosed, but all those who are given access will, in all likelihood, be official members of Epic’s ‘Support a Creator’program. This is the first news related to custom games since Epic first added a button for custom matchmaking to the main lobby screen nearly a year ago. Additionally, we will be experimentally opening up access to Fortnite’s custom matchmaking to test our services with a limited number of Creators. — Melissa (@melissadingmon) February 7, 2019 Custom matchmaking has been something that players and content creators have been asking for nearly as long as the game’s actually been out. While the additions of the Playground and Creative modes have somewhat satisfied those cravings, custom games would take the Fortnite experience to a whole new level. Although the exact details for how it will work have yet to be announced, this will presumably allow the selected creators to test it out with members of their respective stream communities. This was one of two major announcements that Epic Games made for content creators on February 6, following the news that Epic will be quadrupling the payout for creators. This means that those who are in the Support a Creator program will now receive $20 per 10,000 V-Bucks spent in Fortnite and 20% of sales from the Epic Games store. This increase in payout will be effective from February 8-22, which could also be the dates for when the custom matchmaking becomes available to some. For a limited time we are increasing the Creator payout rate by 4X, from $5 per 10,000 V-Bucks spent to $20 per 10,000 V-Bucks spent, and we are increasing the Epic Games Store payout rate 4X from 5% to 20%, funded entirely by Epic. pic.twitter.com/mNvtsBDdbp — Melissa (@melissadingmon) February 7, 2019

Fortnite has received a number of Content Updates over the past few weeks, that have added new items such as the Air Strike or the Chug Splash, but players haven’t seen a brand new full update since the v9.30 patch on June 18. Finally though, Epic Games are set to drop the v9.40 update, which will include new versions of one of the game’s most popular weapons, plus some quality of life fixes. When does Fortnite v9.40 update officially release? Throughout Season 9, Epic Games have released new patches for the game on a Tuesday, but the developers remained quiet on July 15, failing to announce that players would wake up to a brand new patch. With a July 16 release now extremely unlikely, it appears that Epic have pushed back the update, but haven’t revealed when we can expect to see it. It’s likely that we will now see the patch on Wednesday, July 17 at 8:00 AM EST / 5:00 AM PST / 9:00 AM BST, although we will need to wait for official confirmation. Fortnite’s last updated included the new Air Strike weapon. Why has the v9.40 update been delayed? Again, no official reason has been given for the delay, but it’s possible that due to the two week holiday that Epic Games took as a company, the update wasn’t quite ready for today’s release date. They may also have one eye on the Fortnite World Cup, pushing this update back slightly so as to not release one next week and disrupt players just days before the finals kick off. What can we expect to see in the Fortnite v9.40 update? We already know that we’ll be getting new versions of the Tactical Shotgun, with Epic and Legendary varieties of the weapon coming in the next patch. Thanks to the Fortnite Trello board, we also know that there will be fixes for the following bugs, with more likely to be included once the update officially goes live. Traps sometimes rise into structures’ ceilings and therefore cannot be seen by players. – Players may experience issues picking up items – Part of the mountain textures are exposed, revealing a flat textured wall jutting from the side of the cliff. – There are reports that Creative maps are changing directions upon publishing. The minimap also changes, rotating 180 degrees. – Chest in Neo Tilted is unopenable – Players are experiencing voice chat issues on the Android platform. – The new variants of the Tactical Shotguns were unvieled on the in-game news feed. Make sure to check back to see when the update goes live, as we’ll be sure to update this post when Epic Games make any official announcements.

  • Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 update: Release date, rumors, more – Dexerto

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 update: Release date, rumors, more Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2 is just weeks away, with the game’s next major update scheduled to go live on PC, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices in late February. After 10 seasons, Epic Games completely revamped the popular battle royale title’s map and unveiled Chapter 2, a new dawn for a game that has revolutionized the space and became a pop culture phenomenon. Taking out tons of weapons, vehicles, and tools that players had gotten used too, Chapter 2 was a return to a stripped-down version of the title first seen in the early seasons in 2018, and while players enjoyed this return to a more simplistic version of the game, Season 1 has now lasted longer than any that came before it, and many are anxious for the new season to inject some new life into the franchise. When does Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 1 end? Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 1 is officially the longest ever, with Epic Games confirming that it will have lasted for a staggering four months by the time it comes to its conclusion on Thursday, February 20, 2020. Fans of the game are used to delays at the end of 10-week seasons, with the developers often utilizing a week or two of Overtime challenges to draw proceedings to a close, giving players a final chance to earn new rewards from their Battle Pass while they finish work on the major update that launches at the start of every new season. The expected 10 weeks would have taken the game into the festive season, so it was no surprise that Epic Games decided to extend Chapter 2, Season 1 into the new year. Few could have expected that another two months would pass before Season 2 officially kicked off though, with many players, and streamers like Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, begging for a new update after feeling that the game has grown stale due to the length of the current season. When does Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2 start? While Epic Games confirmed that Season 1 ends on February 20, the developers didn’t go as far as giving us an official start date for Season 2, although we now have a rough idea as to when we can expect it. It seems likely that Season 2 will start as soon as the first one ends, meaning we will likely get a major update on February 20. This would line up with previous seasons, where major updates have released on a Thursday, although usually the previous chapter has ended on the Tuesday prior. Of course, the developers have made players wait for days in the past before, with Season X ending on a Sunday, leaving players staring at a black hole for two entire days before rebooting with Chapter 2, much to the delight of fans. What will be added in Fortnite, Chapter 2, Season 2? So Far, Epic Games have remained tight-lipped about what players can expect when the action kicks off on February 20, but they have teased that they have some major secrets lined up for the new season, but just can’t tell fans about them yet. As always, players will also be able to purchase a brand-new Battle Pass stuffed full of new cosmetics and emotes, and new Missions to help fans of the game get to grips with the changes made. One of the biggest changes expected to affect Season 2 has already happened, with Epic Games switching physics systems for the first time since the popular battle royale game launched. In the 11.50 Update released on February 5, the developers switched to the Chaos physics system, and while many expected this to cause major issues and perhaps change the game entirely, it ended up being a smooth transition, with little to no changes to how the title is played. What’s happening in the final weeks of Chapter 2, Season 1? With just a few weeks left, Epic Games have made sure that players have plenty of things to keep themselves occupied with until the new season launches. Introduced with the 11.50 Update, Fortnite is currently in the middle of the Love and War event, which introduced a brand-new set of challenges for players to take on, along with some awesome free rewards including cosmetic items for those who grind their way through them and complete the tasks set out by the developers. On top of that, Epic Games also added a new mode for players to sink their teeth into, with those familiar with Call of Duty able to play Search and Destroy in the game for the first time. Players earn gold which they can spend on weapons and materials, which each map featuring two bomb sites. Attacking teams must make it to a site, plant the bomb and stop the defending team from defusing, while defense sees them trying to stop those with the explosives at all costs. Players can also get their hands on a special Harley Quinn skin to celebrate the release of DC’s latest movie Birds of Prey from the in-game store, with new challenges available to unlock the character’s look from Suicide Squad.

  • When will Fortnite Season 7 have Double XP? Two weekend dates announced – Dexerto

When will Fortnite Season 7 have Double XP? Two weekend dates announced The upcoming end of Season 7 in Fortnite Battle Royale can only mean one thing – players will soon be treated to some double XP weekends. Epic Games have announced that there will be two double XP weekends between now and the end of Season 7, which is scheduled to conclude on February 27. The first one will take place February 15-17 and the second on February 22-24, both of them starting on a Friday and ending on the following Sunday. The exact times for when these sessions will begin have yet to be announced and will likely be revealed as we get closer to the dates. Epic Games like to host these double XP sessions in order to give players the chance to level up as much and as fast as they can before the current season comes to a close. Once Season 7 ends, its Battle Pass will be replaced by that of Season 8, meaning that any Season 7 content not unlocked prior to that point will no longer be accessible. Epic will also likely re-insert Battle Pass Tier boosts in the Item Shop for players who want to pay to make sure that they get their Battle Pass maxed out before February 27. These upcoming double XP weekends will be part of a larger ‘Share the Love’ event in Fortnite, which will introduce a slew of new content themed after Valentine’s Day. The event will include daily Overtime Challenges and Rewards, featured island frenzy, and a Cuddle Hearts Wrap (shown above) that players can unlock for free. Also making its debut during that time will be the Share the Love competitive series, which will essentially be the first official ranked mode in Fortnite. The Share the Love event will kick off on February 8 and last until February 27, which will be the final day of Season 7 before Season 8 is scheduled to go live.

  • When is the Fortnite Cattus vs Doggus event? Date and time revealed – countdown – Dexerto

When is the Fortnite Cattus vs Doggus event? Date and time revealed – countdown After weeks of speculation, the date and time is set for the upcoming Fortnite in-game event, unofficially the Cattus vs Doggus event, as various countdowns appear around the map. Fortnite Season 9 is rapidly drawing to a close, with an in-game event set to close off the season, believed to be an epic battle between ‘Cattus’ and ‘Doggus’. Cattus – a monster believed to be roaming around the map, causing the destruction of both Polar Peak and Loot Lake – is set to fight Doggus, a massive robot that is slowly being constructed at Pressure Plant. After weeks of leaks and other easter eggs on the map, the date and time has finally been set for the event, following various countdowns appearing around the battle royale island. We are now able to confirm that the event will take place on July 20 at 3:00 pm EST. It’s more than likely Epic Games will create or restrict the standard playlists, similar to the unvaulting event, so no one will miss out on the experience. The countdowns have appeared on each of the sky platforms scattered around the map, possibly suggesting that players will be forced to watch the battle from above, given the tremendous scale of the robot. On the other hand, members of the Fortnite community believe players might play an active part in taking down the monster, potentially banding together to take down its HP during the event. Whatever Epic have in store, it’s sure to leave (most) fans happy, given the overwhelming success of in-game events in the past, such as the Marshmello concert at Pleasant Park. An official announcement from Epic is expected in the coming days and as always, Dexerto will keep you updated on how to watch it for yourself.

  • When Does Season 3 of Fortnite End? Full Schedule and Expected Start Date of Season 4 – Dexerto

When Does Season 3 of Fortnite End? Full Schedule and Expected Start Date of Season 4 The wait for the Fortnite community is over after it was confirmed in-game that Season 3 will end on May 1st, with Season 4 making room just days later. Details about Season 4’s Battle Pass have been unfolding day by day leading up to the end of Season 3, but there still remains an air of mystery around what exactly it will entail. The superhero theme is all but obvious, but how will that tie into the meteor theme that has dominated the Fortnite headlines towards across April? A quick look online and you’ll find a whole host of theories about what’s set to happen with the meteor, Tilted Towers and the rest of the map, but Epic Games have done a stellar job of keeping the facts behind closed doors, at least for now. The end of Season 3 was always confirmed as May 1st, but we’ve been void of an exact time. That all changed on April 29th when a countdown timer appeared in-game that shows it ends at 12:30am PT (3:30am ET, 8:30am BST, 5:30pm AEDT). However, before you get excited, we still don’t have confirmation of the time when Season 4 will begin. The previous switchover resulted in a one day grace period where the Battle Pass wasn’t online to allow for Epic Games to implement the updated changes, but this time around it appears it should feature on Tuesday, May 1st. Millions of Fortnite fans around the world are excited to find out what Season 4 has in store and we’ll keep you updated on what exactly the content entails when it goes live.

  • When will Fortnite Chapter 2 start? Leaks reveal Season 11 downtime info [Update] – Dexerto

When will Fortnite Chapter 2 start? Leaks reveal Season 11 downtime info [Update] Apple / Epic GamesWith so many Fortnite Battle Royale players wondering when the game will be turned back on for Season 11 / Chapter 2, data-miners have discovered and leaked files that provide new information about the downtime’s possible length. The Fortnite community was sent into a state of confusion and shock on October 13 when the highly anticipated ‘The End’ event led to the game being essentially turned off. Instead of closing the book on Season 10 and kickstarting the launch of Season 11, also known as Chapter 2, the massive in-game spectacle reduced the game to nothing more than a black screen with a mysterious blue circle floating in the middle. When is Fortnite coming back? With players desperately scouring social media and the internet for answers, prominent data-miner ‘Lucas7yoshi‘ uncovered some new details about when Fortnite could be back. Read More: Fortnite The End event crashes Twitch – According to his tweet, the code from the game’s official website indicated that ‘The End’ event was schedule to end on Tuesday, October 15, at 3 AM PST / 6 AM EST. BREAKING: I have independtly confirmed the authenticity of a discovery that points to “”The-End”” lasting until Tuesday, 6AM EST This is not stuck in stone, this info is from https://t.co/0TDeMk7Bda code. pic.twitter.com/ElnNFKppWn — Lucas7yoshi – FNBR Leaks/News (@Lucas7yoshi) October 13, 2019 It must be noted that even the data-miner himself made it clear that “this is not stuck in stone,” meaning that the offered time may not be totally accurate. Furthermore, fellow data-miner HYPEX, one of the most trusted sources of leaks around, responded to that discovery by reminding fans that those times are “always a bit off.” Read More: What do the numbers mean in Fortnite The End – “Fortnite’s website says that this black hole is ending on 15 Tuesday, but I don’t think that’s what’s going to happen,” he tweeted. “Most of their scheduled times are always a bit off or not correct!” Fortnite’s website says that this black hole is ending on 15 Tuesday, BUT I DON’T THINK THAT’S WHAT GONNA HAPPEN! most of their Scheduled times are always a bit off or not correct! — HYPEX – Fortnite Leaks & News :jack_o_lantern: (@HYPEX) October 13, 2019 Sooner than we thought? A further, fresh, rumor suggested that the game could return on Monday, October 14, as the Chinese Fortnite website is counting down to 4:05pm EST. Update: This time has come and gone with no sign of a new season in sight. That would mean that the battle royale would make its return at 9pm BST, 10pm CEST, and 6:55am AEST. RUMOR: The official release date for Chapter 2 will be 4:05pm EST! This exact time was found in the source code of the Fortnite China website! (h/t @SnaxDzik3ZL & @matix044) — ShiinaBR – Fortnite Leaks (@ShiinaBR) October 14, 2019 Late on October 14, another potential clue was discovered, albeit one not requiring a data-miner. Mixer star Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins, who has always maintained a close relationship with Epic over the years, tweeted out that he would reveal a hint about Fortnite Chapter 2 if his tweet got 250,000 retweets. Upon reaching that mark, he posted a video of himself saying “tacos,” which many interpreted to mean “Taco Tuesday” and hinting at the event ending on Tuesday, just as the leak above suggests. He did backtrack on it later, tweeting out “Or is it Minecraft Monday???,” so there’s a chance Ninja doesn’t have any insider info and is simply pulling everyone’s leg. However, the Monday and Tuesday start time rumors could very well be incorrect regardless of who you listen to – as new code on the Epic Games website hints at a later time. On the website, the code states that the ‘end time’ will finish on Thursday, October 17, which is different to the October 15 code that had been uncovered earlier. Whenever Fortnite does end up getting turned back on, Epic will likely rest assured knowing that they squeezed a lot of publicity and attention for their iconic battle royale title, and created a lot of excitement and anticipation for what lays in store once Chapter 2 kicks off. Until then, make sure to continue monitoring our Twitter @Dexerto and the Dexerto Fortnite page for the latest information and updates. According to data miner KrispyLeaks, the holiday celebration will kick off on Tuesday, December 17 and run until Monday, January 6, 2020. That date is obviously longer than the original 14 days, so you won’t be racing against the clock to get the challenges done. Epic Games have announced that Fortnitemares 2019 will kick off on Tuesday, October 29. This was the same date that was revealed by data miners following the start of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 1. We’ll keep this post updated with any additional details that arrive before it’s release – especially if there is anything on new loot or cosmetics. Fortnite Season 8 is expected to come to an end on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 1pm PT. Although the current season’s Battle Pass is scheduled to expire on December 5, a chapter-ending live event known as The End has been announced for the day before, meaning this date is no longer relevant. Of course, there’s a chance that Epic Games will delay this end date if they don’t have everything ready for the following season, but that hasn’t happened in quite a while, so fingers crossed they stay on schedule. Is there going to be a Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 9? While it would make sense for Chapter 2 Season 8 to go into Chapter 2 Season 9, which is what happened in Chapter 1, Epic Games have confirmed that we’ll actually be going straight into Chapter 3 next. Fortnite Chapter 3 is expected to begin on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. • When does Fortnite Season 8 begin? Earthquake rumors, Season 7 end date, pirate teasers – Dexerto

When does Fortnite Season 8 begin? Earthquake rumors, Season 7 end date, pirate teasers Fortnite’s Season 7 is nearly over, and Epic Games are dropping more hints than ever about what’s coming next. These hints give us an idea of what Season 8 will involve for players on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and every other platform. Here’s everything you need to know! Thursday, December 6, was a big day for the world of Fortnite Battle Royale as the highly anticipated v7.00 patch was finally released. Season 7 began with a bang, literally, as an Iceberg collided with the map and created a massive icy biome that covers around one-quarter of the map. Now well into 2019, we’ve experienced everything from an entire snow map on Christmas day to a giant sword named the ‘Infinity Blade’ that was quite possibly the most overpowered thing we’ve ever seen. As we’re now well past the halfway point in the season, players are beginning to wonder about what comes next. Below, you can find everything we know (and everything we think we might know) so far: When does Fortnite Season 7 end? Players will have longer than normal to unlock all of the Battle Pass rewards in Season 7. Epic Games released a blog post shortly after the season began where they announced that Season 7 will be extended by two weeks to allow for their winter break. “The Epic Games team will be taking its own holiday break this winter, so Season 7 will be extended by two weeks and end on February 28,” they explained. “We’ll still have new updates coming out during that break period bringing new items and challenges. You can plan on more holiday cheer to hit before the New Year as well!” According to the blog post, Season 7 will end on Thursday, February 28. So, players will actually get a full 12 weeks to unlock all of the Season 7 Battle Pass skins and cosmetics. The normal 10 weeks of challenges are now over, but Epic Games is keeping it interesting to the last possible day with new Overtime Challenges, as part of the Valentine’s Day event, which will close out the final two weeks of Season 7. When does Fortnite Season 8 begin? Season 8 will go live on February 28, Epic Games has finally announced. In a Twitter post on February 24, Epic revealed that only four days remained until the start of the new season. The release of the new season could potentially be an issue for competitive players, however, as the ESL Katowice Royale is starting on March 1. A major update in the same time period is likely to change the meta of the game – which will change how players find victories. Of course, any late delay in preparing the v8.00 patch could derail Epic’s plans and mean that the release is delayed. What will the Season 8 theme be and what changes can we expect? The Season 6 theories and predictions that the map will be covered in snow for a winter/Christmas theme in Season 7 proved to be true. However, the rumors so far for Season 8 are nowhere near as detailed. The most popular theory has been that Season 7 will end with some sort of earthquake event. A number of leaks, including some audio files, made this rumor seem possible, and sure enough, a number of small earthquakes started to rock the map on February 14, and each one appears to be leaving a giant crack in the ground. Many Fortnite fans believe these earthquakes will cause a volcano to erupt on the island, and the third Season 8 teaser appears to add fuell to that fire, as many believe the bottom of the image looks a lot like a volcano. However, in a slight twist, Epic has also teased what seems to be a Pirate-like theme for Season 8. The ‘X’ marks the spot, the hints at hidden treasure and something to do with Bananas only gives us little to work with as it is still pretty vague. The first three Season 8 teaser images hint towards the pirate theme, and they even appear to combine to make a larger picture of a skull! While it’s still uncertain as to what we can expect when Season 8 launches, there are some early clues, rumors and announcements that Fortnite fans can sink their teeth into. Wailing Woods has begun to rot and decay prompting many to believe it will disappear at the start of the new season, while Epic Games have already confirmed that the X-4 Stormwing plane will be removed, although the recently added Driftboard will remain for the time being. Popular Fortnite stream Nick Eh 30 also believes that a number of vaulted weapons will return in Season 8, but the developers have yet to confirm this. How much will the Season 8 Battle Pass cost? Expect to see Season 8 Battle Pass cost around the same amount as it has in previous seasons, so somewhere in the region of 950 V-Bucks (~ $10). For the first time ever, though, you can actually unlock the Battle Pass for FREE by completing the special Overtime Challenges! The Battle Pass gives you the chance to unlock a range of exclusive skins, emotes and other cosmetic items as you level up through all the tiers. You’ll also get the opportunity to complete Battle Pass challenges and, probably, unlock a mystery skin through a series of bonus challenges like this season’s ‘Snowfall’ challenge. How long will Season 8 last? We’re expecting Season 8 to be a return to normal practice, meaning it will last 10 weeks with 10 sets of weekly challenges and 100 Battle Pass tiers to work through. Epic Games have yet to officially announce when the season will end, but a PlayStation Event page for the launch of Season 8 may have leaked that it will run from Thursday, February 28 until Tuesday, May 7, which would match up with the regular 10 week seasons that Epic Games have used in the past. • When does Fortnite Season 8 end? Rumors, Season 9 start date, leaks and more – Dexerto

When does Fortnite Season 8 end? Rumors, Season 9 start date, leaks and more Epic Gamesthe long-awaiting v8.00 patch was released – marking the end of Season 7. With it, the update brought a huge map overhaul. Wailing Woods and Lazy Links are now long gone and have been replaced with a massive volcano and pirate inspired area. While players have been enjoying the early period of the new season and its brand new theme, the wait for the next update has already begun – as players begin to speculate to what Epic Games has in store for them next. Below, you can find everything we know – and everything we think we might know – about Season 9 so far… When does Fortnite Season 8 end? Fortnite seasons usually last around 10 weeks, but Season 7 was extended for an additional fortnight due to Epic Games’ break over the holiday period. Read More: How to watch Fortnite’s $500,000 ESL Katowice Royale tournament – schedule, format, players, and more – A leak from the PlayStation event page for Fortnite Season 8 states that the end date will be May 8. However, that isn’t an official date from Epic. They should release an official date closer to the end of the season as Epic begin to drop their own teasers. When does Fortnite Season 9 begin? Again, we don’t officially know but by using the usual 10 weeks timeframe of previous seasons and the PlayStation leak, it seems like it would have to be May 9. If Season 9 runs for the usual 10 weeks of challenges, without any sort of overtime, it will come to a close on July 25. That start date, which is the second Thursday in May, would line up with the normal release schedule of Fortnite updates – which usually land on a Thursday morning. However, if Epic decides to extend the season due to delays in the update or something in their storyline dictates it – the start date for Season 9 will ultimately be decided by them. What will the Season 9 theme be and what changes can we expect? With this being Epic Games, the theme for Season 9 is sure to impress. Epic completely threw us all a curveball with the Jungle and Pirate theme for Season 8 – including adding an Aztec-looking temple at Sunny Steps, a giant Volcano and a fully-fledged Pirate town at Lazy Lagoon. As Season 8 progresses, we are sure to get some sort of hint at what is set to come in the following season. There had been theories prior to the current season that there would be some sort of underwater aspect, but that seemingly turned out to be the Pirate-theme we have now in Season 8. Epic Games have also hinted a future also being set in Space. Will that be the case for Season 9? We’ll have to wait and see! However, we guess we can make is that with Season 9 being the season that takes us into the summer, there should be a warm feel – with plenty of sunshine, colors and a party-like atmosphere to keep you rocking all the way through until Season 10. How much will the Season 9 Battle Pass cost? Expect to see Season 9 Battle Pass cost around the same amount as it has in previous seasons, which has been around 950 V-Bucks (~ $10/£8). There should also be the additional Battle Bundle to purchase. That package, which is a bit more expensive that the normal Battle Pass, would give you a head start on the first 25 tiers and unlock an additional exclusive bonus skin centered around the theme for the new season. How long will Season 8 last? We’re expecting Season 8 to be a return to normal practice, meaning it will last 10 weeks with 10 sets of weekly challenges and 100 Battle Pass tiers to work through. Epic Games have yet to officially announce when the season will end. However, Epic has been known to extend seasons in the past – fitting in additional challenges that lead to a free Battle Pass when Season 7 had an extra two weeks added to its lifespan. There is also the possibility of delays with updates, meaning the developer would have to divert from their plans and any set timetable to make sure everything runs smoothly before the mass horde of Fortnite fans are able to dive right into the new season. This post was last updated on April 27 We will continue to update this post with any news, rumors and theories surrounding Season 9 so that you have a better idea of what you’ll be sinking your teeth into by the time Epic drops the v9.00 update. Until then, you can follow us on Twitter @Dexerto to keep up with everything Fortnite related throughout Season 8.

  • When does Fortnite Season 7 start? Season 6 end date – Dexerto

When does Fortnite Season 7 start? Season 6 end date Epic GamesFortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 is racing towards the finish line, and players are now beginning to look ahead to Season 7 and the new features it will bring. While some players were left a little disappointed with Season 5 of Fortnite, the current Season 6 update is winning over gamers with brilliant new features like tameable wild animals, difficult Guardian boss fights, and weapon crafting. There are a few weeks to go before this ‘Primal’ season comes to an end, and no doubt a couple more mid-season updates still to come, but that hasn’t stopped players from speculating when Season 7 will begin and what could happen when it finally arrives. When does Fortnite Season 6 finish? Chapter 2, Season 6 of Fortnite will come to an end on Monday, June 7, 2021. We know this because the official Fortnite website displays a confirmation that the Season 6 Battle Pass will expire on June 7, meaning the season will end then, too. This is how it’s always worked in previous seasons. Read More: How to tame animals in Fortnite Season 6 – Of course, there’s every chance that Epic Games could extend Season 6 if they’re not finished working on the next update in time. That has happened in the past, but we won’t know if that will be the case until closer to the time. When does Fortnite Season 7 start? Chapter 2, Season 7 of Fortnite is expected to begin on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. There’s always a decent chunk of downtime between seasons, so with Season 6 coming to an end on June 7, it makes sense that Season 7 will then kick off the day after on June 8. As always, there may be delays to the season or even a Black Hole-style event to bridge the gap between seasons, so while this date is pretty concrete for now, it could change later down the line. Epic Games are currently testing Season 7 On May 3, 2021, it was confirmed by a number of prominent Fortnite leakers including ShiinaBR that Epic Games have started testing v17.00, otherwise known as Chapter 2 Season 7. With this news, it seems that everything is on track for Season 7 to go live in June. Hopefully, we’ll start to get some teasers or leaks in the coming weeks, as fans are eager to see what comes next. What is the theme of Fortnite Season 7? Every season of Fortnite has a loose theme that ties everything together and influences the map, NPC characters, and Battle Pass skins you can unlock. Unfortunately, there’s no clue yet as to what Season 7 will entail. What we can safely predict is that it’s very unlikely Epic will keep things in the Primal age going into Season 7, so we’d expect a return to modern times – or perhaps they’ll do the complete opposite and take players into the future? It has also been revealed that Epic are planning to go “beyond battle royale” with an open-world experience in Fortnite. There’s no release date yet, but it could tie into the upcoming season’s theme. Will there be a live finale event in Season 6? Previous seasons have ended with a massive live finale event, but Epic Games switched things up with Season 5. Instead of ending Season 5 with a live event, they kicked Season 6 off with a launch event called the Zero Crisis Finale. Unlike the traditional live events that bring hundreds of Fortnite players together, the Zero Crisis Finale was a solo experience that gamers could play through the first time they launched Fortnite during Season 6. It’s unknown whether Epic will return to major live events in Season 6, but given how well-received the Zero Crisis Finale was, it wouldn’t be too surprising to see more solo experiences in the future.

  • When does Fortnite Season 7 begin? Snow theme, leaked skins, vehicles, release time and more v7.0 patch news – Dexerto

When does Fortnite Season 7 begin? Snow theme, leaked skins, vehicles, release time and more v7.0 patch news Thursday, December 6, will mark the start of Season 7 in Fortnite Battle Royale and the release of an all-new Battle Pass with hundreds of cosmetic items associated with it. Season 6 was an eventful one, beginning with the Darkness Rises event that saw the mysterious cube turn Loot Lake into a massive floating island that then began to travel around the map. Eventually the cube exploded entirely, turning Loot Lake into ‘Leaky Lake’ and seemingly bringing an end to the cube saga. But with Season 6 coming to an end, and Season 7 about to begin, what can you expect to see? Here’s everything we know so far… When does Fortnite Season 6 end? Fortnite seasons tend to last a total of 10 weeks. The in-game counter shows that it is due to conclude on Wednesday, December 5. If you’re still trying to unlock the last of the Season 6 Battle Pass items, you’re running out of time! When does Fortnite Season 7 begin? Epic Games has confirmed that downtime for the Season 7 patch will begin on Thursday, December 6 at 09:00 GMT (04:00 EST, 01:00 PST, 20:00 AEDT, 10:00 CET). Stay frosty! Downtime for Season 7 begins December 6 at 4 AM ET (0900 UTC). :snowflake:️ — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) December 5, 2018 While the patch notes are usually released at the start of downtime, we expect there to be a long wait as the many changes for Season 7 are implemented. What will the Season 7 theme be and what changes can we expect? As Season 6 progressed, there were many theories that the map will be covered in snow for a winter/Christmas theme in Season 7, and the evidence to support those theories quickly began to stack up. The first Season 7 teaser, which was released on December 3, also seems to support that theory and an icy silhouette was released along with the caption: “A bitter ice spreads… 3 days to Season 7.” The second teaser followed a similar pattern and was captioned with: “A frigid day dawns… 2 days to Season 7.” We’d say that these clues are more than enough to conclude that we’ll have a white Christmas in Fortnite this year! Elsewhere, it’s looking more and more likely that new forms of transport, like planes and zip lines will be added to the game – the third Season 7 teaser all but confirmed this. An all-new creative mode will also be debuting with virtually unlimited possibilities for mini-games and more. What will the Season 7 Battle Pass skins look like? We usually have very little idea of what to expect from a new Battle Pass prior to its release, but there are usually some hints in the teaser images. This was once again the case with the Season 7 teasers, but they didn’t give much away due to the fact that they are silhouettes. However, a major leak on December 5 gave us our first sneak peek at what to expect from a few of the outfits, at least: You’ll also get the opportunity to complete Battle Pass challenges and, if previous seasons are anything to go by, unlock a mystery skin through a series of bonus challenges like this year’s ‘Hunting Party’. How long will Season 7 last? We’re expecting Season 7 to be another 10 week affair, with 10 sets of weekly challenges and 100 Battle Pass tiers to work through. Epic Games usually start dropping hints and information about the coming season as it draws closer.

  • When does Fortnite Season 8 start? Chapter 2 Season 7 end date – Dexerto

When does Fortnite Season 8 start? Chapter 2 Season 7 end date Epic GamesThere’s not long to go until Fortnite Season 7 comes to an end, and players are already looking ahead to the start of Season 8, as well as all the new features and storylines it will bring to the table. The alien takeover of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 is one that came out of nowhere from Epic Games, but it’s been a pleasant surprise for fans of the battle royale. The map has seen some astronomical changes, and the skins in the Battle Pass are among the best we have seen in quite some time. It’s safe to say players have had more than enough content to last them through the summer, but with mere weeks left of the current season, attention is naturally turning towards the future, and what Season 8 of Fortnite has in store for players. Contents When does Fortnite Season 7 end? – When does Fortnite Season 8 start? – What is the theme of Fortnite Season 8? – When does Fortnite Season 7 end? According to well-known Fortnite dataminer HYPEX, Chapter 2 Season 7 of Fortnite will come to an end on September 12, 2021, which aligns with the date that the current Battle Pass is set to expire. This is just in time for a brand new season that could potentially feature a Halloween-themed Battle Pass, as Season 8 should run through the Fall months into Winter 2021. Keep in mind that there is always a chance that this season’s end date will get extended, as that has happened in the past. So while this date is great to have in the back of our minds, it is subject to change. When does Fortnite Season 8 start? Season 8 of Fortnite is expected to start on September 13, 2021. There’s always a decent chunk of downtime between seasons, so it makes sense that Season 8 will kick off the day after Season 7 finishes. This all depends on how Epic is doing in the lead-up to the new season and if they are ready on time. We have not seen a season delayed in over a year, though, so fingers crossed it does not occur with Season 8. What is the theme of Fortnite Season 8? It’s always hard to predict what the theme of a new Fortnite season will be, as Epic continually throws players for a loop. No one was anticipating the Primal theme of Season 6 with dinosaurs, for example. However, based on recent leaks and hints, we can make some educated guesses. One of the biggest rumors is that Kevin the Cube will be making a return for Season 8, as it was teased by Fortnite’s Donald Mustard. This alone would probably be enough for a whole season to be based on, as the mystery surrounding Kevin the Cube has interested players for years since it destroyed parts of the map and eventually disappeared. However, there’s also the potential that this will be a Halloween-themed season, as October 31 will be right in the middle of the season. Fortnite usually celebrates the spooky season, so it wouldn’t be too unlikely. A final theory is that Season 8 will revolve around ninjas or something similar. Why? Well, a recent leak claimed Epic Games were able to get the rights to anime icon Naruto, and they apparently want to include him in the next Battle Pass. This same leaker correctly predicted lots of things like Ariana Grande’s concert, and another recent report suggested that Epic have actually signed a deal with Shueisha, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed that it all turns out to be true! • When does Fortnite Season 6 begin? Battle Pass, Season 5 end date and more – Dexerto

When does Fortnite Season 6 begin? Battle Pass, Season 5 end date and more We’re officially in the final few days of Season 5 in Fortnite, and that can only mean one thing: a new season is just around the corner! The release of the Week 10 challenges on September 14 marked the beginning of the final week of challenges in Season 5, and the September 18 patch is expected to be the last that we see before Season 6 begins. But when exactly will that happen and what can you expect from it? Here’s everything we know so far… When does Fortnite Season 6 begin? Epic Games have confirmed that Season 6 will drop on September 27! Of course, any delays or issues that Epic Games run into could push that date back as they will want the transition to be a perfect one. Season 6 is now dropping from the Battle Bus on September 27. Celebrate its arrival and unlock those final Battle Pass rewards with an additional 400% Match XP all weekend, from now until September 24 at 8 AM ET (1200 GMT). Glide into the party! :tada: — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) September 21, 2018 The Battle Pass will give you the opportunity to unlock a variety of outfits, emotes and other in-game cosmetics as you level up through various tiers. Battle Pass owners will also get the chance to complete Battle Pass exclusive weekly challenges. Epic released seven challenges each week in Season 5 but only three were free to play. What major changes will we see to the map and game for Season 6? Nobody knows! However, the overwhelming theory is that the mysterious cube, which recently melted into Loot Lake, will spark some sort of major event. One of the most popular theories is that there will be some kind of portal to a “dark world” replacing the Loot Lake, but speculation ranges from an explosion to some sort of “Volcanic Pit” turning up in the large expanse of water. One thing’s for certain, Epic Games will make sure that Season 5 ends with a bang and Season 6 begins with some major changes to the map! How long will Season 6 last? Expect to see another 10 week season. The time span gives players ample opportunity to earn all of Battle Pass items and the cycle seems to work perfectly in terms of the lore and in-game events. Epic tend to start releasing hints about the next season at around the halfway point of the current one.

  • When does Fortnite Season 3 start? Season 2 end, Doomsday event, more – Dexerto

When does Fortnite Season 3 start? Season 2 end, Doomsday event, more Epic GamesEpic Games are ramping up towards the beginning of Fortnite Season 3 and, of course, the end of Season 2. So, let’s run through the potential release date, what we know about the transition event between the two, and more. Just like the first period of Fortnite Chapter 2, the current season has also been one of the longest in memory, following confirmation of an extension from Epic Games back in April. In recent times, regular players who jump from the Battle Bus have seen Travis Scott take over the island with an in-game event, alongside multiple teasers that hints towards the major ‘Doomsday’ event that is set to arrive in the coming days. With so little time left before we see what the game’s developers have in store for us next, let’s run through the release date, what changes we could soon see and more. Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 3 start date The next major update was actually supposed to arrive on April 30, but that went out of the window when Epic announced an extension. When announcing the change in schedule, Epic Games claimed that they are planning on releasing Season 3 on June 4 – but that date has also now been scrapped. It was announced on May 28 that to make sure everything was ready for the new season, they had to push back the date once again, with Season 3 then due to start one week later on June 11. However, an additional delay from Epic Games has pushed Season 3 back once more to a new date of June 17. On June 6, Epic Games confirmed the delay, citing the team’s need to balance the Season 3 launch with “time for the team to focus on themselves, their families, and their communities”. As seasoned veterans will know by now, there’s usually a transition event that introduces the changes. In recent times, we have seen events such as a battle between a beast and a robot, a seemingly never-ending black hole as we crossed over to Chapter 2, and more. This time, we don’t know exactly what will be occurring during the event, but we do know what it’s called and when it’s happening. What will happen at the end of Fortnite Season 2? Fortnite The Device event announced On May 28, after announcing the delay of the start of Season 3, Epic Games also revealed that the event believed to be called ‘Doomsday’ was actually going to be called ‘The Device’. This is a one-time event that is now set to take place on Monday, June 15 at 2PM ET (11AM PT / 7pm BST) ahead of the Season 3 kickoff on June 17,so make sure you’re loaded up and getting into a game in time to see it take place. We’ve seen quite a lot of things changing at the Agency, including the appearance of hatches in the water, as well as changes to the Battle Pass menus. Most recently, though, leaks have shown something hidden away underneath the Agency – as well as data mined images of broken walls. Some leaks have even suggested Rift Beacons may return – devices that caused mass map changes in Season X – and that could be what’s being hidden away. Map flood? Fortnite swimming animations leaked Aside from the underwater hatches, which we don’t know if players will have to enter them at some stage, there’s also been a few swimming animations leaked – which tie in to rumors that the map will flood in Season 3. The leaked swimming motion, seen below, is a lot more advanced than those that were discovered in the internal files during the Travis Scott event. First leaked animation Example: Will show more when everything else is done pic.twitter.com/MHlYkjGtVS — Skin-Tracker (@SkinTrackerCom) April 21, 2020 Latest leaked animation Updated/added animations for Underwater Swimming! #Fortnite | @FortniteGame pic.twitter.com/ZKkrTgl0E7 — Mikey (@MikeDulaimi) May 26, 2020 As you can see, the animation has developed significantly since we it was first leaked. Fortnite puddles discovered Another clue about an island flood has been mysterious puddles popping up around the map, too. Members of the community thought this might be the first official teaser for the drastic event that could see water take over Battle Royale game mode, although nothing has been confirmed just yet. With the Agency and other locations having undergone small changes throughout Season 2, it remains to be seen what will unfold in the game’s next major update. So, we’ll just have to wait and see in regards to what’s coming up. We’ll continue to update this article with more information when it’s been made available. Until next time, search for clues yourself when you drop into the game!

  • When Does Fortnite Season 5 Start and Season 4 End? Everything You Need to Know – Dexerto

When Does Fortnite Season 5 Start and Season 4 End? Everything You Need to Know Fortnite Season 5 will launch on Thursday 12 July. This means that there’s not long for fans to enjoy the final moments of Season 4, which began with a meteor crash in May. The meteors altered the map as a new superhero theme was introduced, but it’s all set to change again. Here’s everything we know about Fortnite Season 5 so far. That heroes and villains theme has never been fully by Epic Games but players finally started to get some answers when the rocket in the villain’s base launched on June 30 and mysterious cracks and portals started to appear around the map and in the sky. When does Season 4 end? Season 4, which has been extended by two days, will officially end on Wednesday, July 11. When will Season 5 begin? Season 5 is due to kick off on Thursday, July 12, at 09:00 BST (04:00 EDT) so you won’t have to wait long before getting your hands on the Season 5 Battle Pass. The in-game updates message confirmed that Season 5 begins in “3 days” on July 9th. What can you expect from the Season 5 Battle Pass? If previous seasons are anything to go by, the Season 5 Battle Pass will cost a total of 950 V-Bucks (approximately $10). The Battle Pass will give you the opportunity to unlock a variety of skins, items, emotes, and other cool cosmetics as you level up and earn XP. Battle Pass owners will also get the chance to earn XP more quickly by completing weekly challenges. Epic usually releases seven challenges each week that range in difficulty. What major changes will we see to the map and game for Season 5? It seems inevitable that Fortnite’s map will undergo a major overhaul as we switch from Season 4 to Season 5, with numerous hints and cryptic clues being discovered on a daily basis. The appearance of strange portals or rifts all around the map coupled with the disappearance of signs, landmarks, and other places of interest certainly seem to suggest that this will be the biggest change we have ever seen. Speculation ranges from time travel to more missile strikes, and from an alien invasion to some sort of post-apocalyptic world. Nothing is confirmed yet but the rocket launch was undoubtedly the start of something big. Read More: FaZe Clan’s Tfue and Cloak Win NerdOut’s $20K Anything Goes Fortnite Tournament – Recap and Final Placements – One area of the map that everyone is convinced will change is Wailing Woods, though nobody seems to be quite sure what it will become. Recent leaks also suggest that the entire map could undergo a massive makeover and feature a desert theme for all of Season 5 with completely revamped places of interest. In terms of gameplay, don’t expect Epic Games to mess with its winning formula too much, but don’t be surprised to see a host of new items, weapons, consumables, and more released with, or shortly after, the Season 5 update. How long will Season 5 last? Expect to see another 10 week season for Fortnite Battle Royale Season 5. The time span gives players ample opportunity to earn all of Battle Pass items and the cycle seems to work perfectly. Epic tends to start releasing hints about the next season just as interest in the current one is beginning to die down so players are on their toes at just about all times and anticipation for what will come next is always high.

  • When does Fortnite Season 10 start? Release date, teasers, map changes and more – Dexerto

When does Fortnite Season 10 start? Release date, teasers, map changes and more We’re just hours away from the official start of Fortnite Season 10, but when will the new update launch, and what can you expect when it drops? Here’s everything we know so far. Fortnite is one of the most popular games in the world, and were the pioneers of the season and Battle Pass structure that have become so prevalent in the gaming industry today. With the free-to-play title fast approaching a new season, many fans will be expecting Epic Games to pull out all of the stops to mark the massive milestone, and the developers have been dropping hints about what we can expect to see when the tenth season finally kicks off. When does Fortnite Season 9 end? Before we can get into the tenth season, fans of the game will need to wait for the end of the current season – Season 9. Epic Games have yet to confirm an official end date for the season, as the usual 10-week cycle would take it up to July 18, which is just around a week before the $30 million dollar Fortnite World Cup. Fortnite fans were treated to yet another fantastic in-game event, following on from the Marshmello concert and volcano eruption, as a giant battle took place between Cattus and Doggus on the Fortnite map, with the massive feline robot coming out on top. Their duel could hold the key to what Epic Games has in store for Season 10. The developers have previously confirmed that the World Cup will take place during Season 9, which suggests that the current season may drag on longer than many anticipated, possibly lasting 12 weeks instead of 10. An event on the PlayStation Store suggests that instead, Fortnite Season 9 will run until August 1, although this has not been officially confirmed as of yet. When does Fortnite Season 10 start? Fortnite Season 10 officially kicks off on Thursday, August 1, although the exact time of the update has yet to be released by developers Epic Games. Fans can expect August 1 to start with a major new update for the game alongside a host of changes to the map, and likely some sort of new weapon or item. This has been the case in the past, although nobody is ruling out a surprise twist considering it’s a landmark season for the title. What’s going to be the Season 10 theme? There haven’t been any major announcements made about Fortnite Season 10’s main storyline, either, but an overarching series of developments have been building throughout the course of Season 9, building up to the fight between Cattus and Doggus. The giant monster was eventually slain outside of Salty Springs, leaving a skeleton in it’s wake. However, a giant mysterious orb also appeared at Look Lake and it becoming more unstable with each passing day. According to the leaked Season 10 trailer, it seems that we’ll be heading back in time to what the island looked like in previous seasons, with the orb’s final explosion transporting us back to Season 1 and the classic Dusty Depot buildings, and possibly bringing back a few vaulted weapons too. What map changes will there be in Fortnite Season 10? The orb at Loot Lake could hold the key to any potential map changes in the new Fortnite season. Fans have speculated that the power supply could be destroyed, meaning locations such as Neo Tilted and Mega Mall will fall into a black out. The Season 10 teaser seemingly confirmed that Dusty Depot will be back for the new season, but whether we will see the return of other classic points-of-interest remains to be seen. Will Fortnite Season 10 have a Battle Pass? As always, Fortnite Season 10 will have a Battle Pass, which players can purchase for exactly 950 V-Bucks. The Battle Pass includes a number of new cosmetic items and rewards for completing challenges and earning Battle Stars, giving those who purchase the pass a horde of new items to make their characters stand out inside the game. If the Battle Pass contains items that you simply can’t wait to get your hands on, you can purchase the Battle Pass bundle for a more expensive 2,800 V-Bucks which includes 25 tiers meaning you will unlock some items early. Unfortunately, there has been no leaks at the time of writing as to what they could include in the Season 10 Battle Pass, but we’ll be sure to keep this post updated as more information becomes available. Have there been any teasers for Fortnite Season 10? Epic Games officially started teasing Fortnite Season 10 during the Fortnite World Cup, releasing an image of Dusty Divot that appeared to hint at the legendary location’s return to the game at the start of the new season. Since then, the developers have dropped teasers daily, with one seemingly confirming that The Visitor character will play a major role in the new season, with another teasing the time travel theme that many have discussed since the first image dropped. The fourth and final teaser shows the orb at Loot Lake finally exploding, tossing an unsuspecting Jonesy flying through the air has the rush of energy blasts across the map. What new skins will appear in Season 10? As is often the case with new seasons in Fortnite, fans can expect to see a whole host of new cosmetics being added to the game when the next major in-game update gets rolled out. The theme could very well decide how these will look, though, as we’ve seen in the past with pirate skins for Season 8, and more futuristic outfits appear in Season 9. It won’t be long before dataminers get their hands on some of the new details, though, as many of them have continually leaked new additions to the Item Shop since the game launched. Epic recently added ‘Banner’ skins to the shop, allowing players to customize their skin by changing their banner emblem and color. The developer confirmed that this feature will be implemented more in the future so expect to see similar skins and items in Season 10. When will Fortnite Season 10 end? Season 10 hasn’t officially been announced yet, but data miners scouring the game’s files have already found what appears to be the planned end date for the new season. Found in a file related to the Season 10 Battle Pass in the v9.40 update, a piece of text reads “Season 10. Now through October 10,” which means the game will return to a 10 week season, finishing on Thursday, October 10. Whether or not the new season will look anything like the images suggest above remains to be seen, there’s no doubt that things will be shaken up. As more leaks roll in, we’ll be sure to keep this article updated. Last updated on July 31, 2019 at 10:32am (EST).
