The mysterious Fortnite cube has destroyed the brand new building at Tilted Towers – Dexerto
The mysterious Fortnite cube has destroyed the brand new building at Tilted Towers The construction work at Fortnite’s Tilted Towers, which was only completed in the V5.40 patch, has been destroyed by the mysterious purple cube. The new building was only completed on September 6 as part of the V5.40 patch – it had been an ongoing project ever since a meteor had struck its predecessor at the end of Season 3. However, it looks like time has already been called on the new construction as the strange purple cube that has been travelling around the map has quite literally levelled it to the ground once more. The cube, affectionately referred to as ‘Kevin’ by some players, has been moving around the Fortnite Battle Royale map for a number of weeks but nobody is entirely sure what its purpose is. The most popular theories revolve around it eventually making its way to Loot Lake and sparking some sort of major event to celebrate the switch between Season 5 and Season 6. The fact that the cube has destroyed a building that had only just been finished, and was the subject of another destructive event in a previous season, has convinced some community members that this will now be an ongoing joke between Epic Games and players. “Watch this become an ongoing joke. Every season this building is going to be rebuilt and then destroyed,” said QuoteMasterLT on Reddit. “Oh man, yes I would love this as a series of cartoon-style jokes where some really unlikely and elaborate bullshit knocks it down,” another Redditor responded. Whatever Season 6 has in store for the Fortnite map, it looks likely that Tilted Towers will have to undergo construction work yet again.

The leaked aerial vehicle coming to Fortnite might not be a vehicle at all – Dexerto
The leaked aerial vehicle coming to Fortnite might not be a vehicle at all LootLakeBRIt seems that audio files leaked from the V6.22 patch for Fortnite Battle Royale may not have been for an aerial vehicle as first thought. The Legendary A.I.M. skin that is granted as a reward to Fortnite players who have completed seven week’s worth of Season 6 characters officially launched today, just ahead of the release of the Week 7 challenges. Fans have found a parachute draped over a chimney at Flush Factory, that features the seem logo on it as the A.I.M. skin, with fans theorizing that the character used to the parachute to land on the Fortnite map. The parachute’s name in Fortnite files is ‘Robo_Chute’ which does seem to confirm the theory that the parachute was in fact used by the A.I.M. character. While it’s currently unknown whether Epic Games just placed the parachute in that location or if an actual in-game event took place, some players did report hearing noises every thirty minutes, that sounded like a plane. Thankfully, a player named vSuntzu14 on Twitter managed to capture audio of the noise, which sounds very similar to the leaked files from the V6.22 update. It’s still worth noting that all of the audio files were found in a folder titled ‘vehicles’, so it’s possible that there could be a plane added to the game in the near future. Unfortunately, Epic Games haven’t officially commented on the situation, so fans will have to be patient as they wait for new information to become available. We’ll be sure to keep you updated with any news as it’s released.

The Mandalorian is ruining Fortnite games before they start – Dexerto
The Mandalorian is ruining Fortnite games before they start Epic GamesThe Mandalorian is known for picking up bounties and taking people out, but sniping Fortnite players out the sky just as they leave the Battle Bus is a whole other level. The famed bounty hunter, who rose to prominence in the Star Wars spinoff show on Disney+, first arrived in the battle royale world when Season 5 kicked off. Since then, a number of other hunters have joined the battle. One of the most deadly weapons found on the Fortnite map, the Amban Sniper Rifle, is in The Mandalorian’s possession and it appears that he’s starting to get a bit trigger happy. Fortnite players beware, you’re being hunted On February 5, a Reddit user by the name of xZ888Zx couldn’t believe what they were seeing, as they were dropping into the game and were knocked down much earlier than expected. It’s a normal occurrence to drop late and be targeted by those on the ground beneath, but being popped by an AI is quite something. “The Mandalorian sniped me before the game even started,” they posted, and many players couldn’t believe it in the comments. We previously put together a guide on how to defeat Mando, but if he’s in this sort of form, nobody stands a chance. On the back of this death, another user posted a potential change that could avoid this sort of thing happening in the future. They said: “I still think we should have invulnerability when gliding at the start of the match. It’s so annoying being shot out of the air or losing half your health before you even land.” While you would like to think that this isn’t something that will happen every game, it serves as a fresh reminder to players about how lethal The Mandalorian can be if you dare to cross paths.

The Latest Strange Portal to Appear in Fortnite Is Significantly Different to All That Came Before – Dexerto
The Latest Strange Portal to Appear in Fortnite Is Significantly Different to All That Came Before Another one of the mysterious, destructive, portals has appeared in Fortnite Battle Royale but this one seems to have no obvious target. Destructive portals in Fortnite Battle Royale have been wreaking havoc all over the map ever since the rocket launch event on June 30th. While nobody knows exactly what they are or what they are doing, one consistent pattern has been that they are attacking recognizable landmarks or signs in well established areas of the map. So far we’ve seen the Lonely Lodge sign, the Motel sign, the spinning tomato head in Tomato Town, the Retail Row “NOMS” sign, and the burger part of the Durr Burger sign in Greasy Grove destroyed or consumed by the shimmering rifts. However, the latest portal to show up seems to fly in the face of everything that we thought we knew about them as it isn’t anywhere near anything that could be described as a “landmark”. Instead, this new apparition is located on the side of a mountain, North West of Greasy Grove, as shown in the video below from FireMonkey: One theory is that this portal will actually return one of the previously consumed items, like the Lonely Lodge sign, to this new location. Others believe that the mountain could be damaged or a new cave/tunnel system might be created. With the speed that things are currently moving at, it seems unlikely that we will have to wait much longer before we get an answer to the latest mystery.

The last Fortnite Hunting Party challenge now has an extra stage – Dexerto
The last Fortnite Hunting Party challenge now has an extra stage The final Hunting Party challenge for Season 6 of Fortnite Battle Royale has been split into two stages following the V6.30 patch for the game. Fortnite players noticed that after the V6.30 update, the last of the 10 Hunting Party challenges displayed ‘½’ on the left hand side of the challenge, when previously it did not. This means that when players complete the first part of the challenge, which is to complete all 10 previous weeks, a second challenge will become available which players will need to complete to finish the Hunting Party set. Unfortunately, because the first part of the challenge is to complete all 10 weeks, we won’t be able to find out what the challenge or reward will be until the tenth week of the season when it becomes unlockable. While there is no official announcement from Epic Games as to what the reward may be for completing the second half of the challenge, some fans believe that the A.X.E. pickaxe that was recently leaked could be a possible prize for completing all the challenges. The A.X.E. pickaxe was originally found in files that suggested it would be available to purchase in the item shop, but with the item looking like it was designed to go along with the A.I.M. skin that was given as a prize for completing seven weeks worth of challenges, it’s possible that it will be given to players who can complete all 10. The Hunting Party challenges were introduced to Fortnite at the beginning of Season Six, and work in the same fashion as the Blockbuster challenges from Season Four and the Road Trip challenges from Season Five. With Fortnite currently in Week 8 of the Hunting Party challenges, fans only need to wait a couple of weeks to find out what the final challenge and reward may be.

The Giant Cube in Fortnite Is Now Surrounded By a Low-Gravity Force Field – Dexerto
The Giant Cube in Fortnite Is Now Surrounded By a Low-Gravity Force Field Another in-game change has taken place in Fortnite involving the mysterious giant Cube. Around midday on August 28, a low-gravity dome/field formed around the Cube, encompassing it and the nearby surrounding area. This newly formed gravitational force field affects anyone who goes near the Cube, allowing them to hop around in a low-gravity environment. Its effect is very similar to the Hop Rocks that were temporarily added to the game at the start of Season 4, although the effect does go away once the player has left the zone. Here are video of this new low-gravity field in-game, courtesy of Fortnite news outlet @LootLakeBR and YouTuber ‘DuhSlayerr.’ Although it is impossible to know what the Cube will do next and when, all of these occurrences seem to be following a pre-determined set of events. The formation of this gravitational dome, along with the Cube’s scheduled movements, all fit in with a coded event pattern that was found and leaked by FNLeak several days ago.

The gaming community went into a frenzy following the announcement by Epic Games that Fortnite: Battle Royale will have a $100 million prize pool between 2018 and 2019 for esports competition. In a shocking reveal, Epic Games announced on May 21st that Fortnite: Battle Royale will receive a $100 million prize pool between 2018 and 2019 for various esports tournaments and competitions. A sanctioned tournament has still yet to be held for the Battle Royale game since its release in 2017, with the genre as a whole still being relatively new when it comes to esports due to the ‘randomness’ of loot and other in-game aspects. Although many thought that the announcement included some sort of typo, it later settled in that the title will actually include such a massive sum of money, leading to a number of different reactions from gaming community members across the board. Whether it is someone in complete and utter disbelief or a professional esports competitor joking about changing titles, some of the best community reactions can be viewed below. The Fortnite world record for console kills has been smashed again – Dexerto
The Fortnite world record for console kills has been smashed again A new world record has been set for most kills by a squad on a console game of Fortnite Battle Royale. The Australian squad made up of Fortitude_Fqrbes, Nexjs, tactjc- and NadeXC were playing on PlayStation 4 when they managed to surpass the 59 kills record set by JuicyMutt, MannyinCali, TozSlays and xPolitics back in April. NadeXC’s team were able to combine for a massive 61 kills, making them the first squad to finally break the 60 kill mark. Fortitude_Fqrbes finished on 25 kills, Nexjs on 18, tactjic- on 10 and NadeXC brought up the rear on eight. The full video of the record-breaking gameplay was uploaded by NadeXC to his YouTube channel, giving fans of Fortnite a first-hand look at how they managed to accomplish the impressive feat. Once they finally secured the Victory Royale, and with it the world record, the guys were in complete shock that they had actually set a new world record, breaking into yells of “Let’s go” and “Oh my God”. The Fortnite World Record has been hotly contested over the past few weeks, with Epic Games making “most kills in a squad game” one of the opening challenges of the Fortnite Fall Skirmish. In September, the PC world record was broken three times in the space of two days, with popular players like FaZe Tfue and NickEh30 all gunning to set the new total. With the console world record now set at 61, it will be fascinating to see if any other squads can come close to the near-perfect game that NadeXC and his squad had to set the record. You can view our full list of the current Fortnite world records here.

The Fortnite world record for Solo eliminations has been smashed yet again – November 5 – Dexerto
The Fortnite world record for Solo eliminations has been smashed yet again – November 5 The Fortnite world record for solo eliminations has been broken yet again. This time, it’s a player from the Asian region that has set the bar for all opponents to aim for. The world record of 32 kills, set by diddytheboy on October 29, was so impressive that we believed it would stand for a number of weeks, but Japanese player ‘Rizart’ clearly had other ideas. The Fortnite phenom managed to rack up a staggering 34 kills in just one game and was quick to share his accomplishment on Twitter and YouTube. According to Rizart’s bio on Twitter, he represents a professional Fortnite team called ‘Crazy Racoon’. He also has almost 73,000 subscribers on YouTube – a number that is sure to rise if he continues to break records in such emphatic fashion. The full video of Rizart’s accomplishment can be found below. As you can probably imagine, it’s pretty action-packed and begins with a number of kills in the ever-popular Tilted Towers. While players from North America and Europe tend to get the most publicity in Fortnite, we’ve seen a number of world records smashed by players from the APAC region in recent weeks. As the competitive Fortnite scene continues to grow, it will be interesting to see whether any of the top players from the region will be able to compete with the world’s best at international tournaments. You can keep up-to-date with all of the current world records for PC, console and mobile by visiting our hub here.

The Fortnite solo record has been broken on PC – Dexerto
The Fortnite solo record has been broken on PC After standing since June, the record for most kills in a solo match of Fortnite Battle Royale has finally been broken. It seems that Fortnite world records are being broken on a near daily basis and October 29 has been no different as a pair of records have fallen today alone. Just hours after the duo vs squad record was set, ‘diddytheboy’ has just broken the solo record on PC by securing a 32-kill Victory Royale. While we’ve seen plenty of records broken over the last week, we don’t see the solo records beaten too often, since it’s much harder to slay out when you’re playing all alone. It seems like that didn’t matter at all to diddytheboy, though, as he wreaked havoc on a solo lobby, leaving a trail of bodies in his wake all game long. Throughout the course of this 17-minute game, diddytheboy manages to take down his enemies without even breaking a sweat, barely getting damage the entire game on his way to a whopping 32 kills. Perhaps the most impressive part of his whole run is that he did it while playing in a $1000 contest online, adding to the pressure of the already high-pressure situation of knowing you’re putting on a world-record performance. The contest was held on GamerzArena and tasked players with securing as many kills in one game and this performance gave him the win, netting him $300 in addition to bragging rights as the world record holder. Given that this record had been untouched since June when Baldy put up 30 kills, diddytheboy’s performance is just that much more impressive. Our full list of world records for all platforms can be found here.

The Fortnite Season 5 Release Smashed Internet Traffic Records – Dexerto
The Fortnite Season 5 Release Smashed Internet Traffic Records The beginning of Season 5 for Fortnite Battle Royale smashed internet game traffic records according to data from Akamai Technologies. The American content delivery network (CDN) and cloud service provider is reportedly responsible for serving around 15-30% of all web traffic. Nelson Rodriguez, Global Director, Media Industry Strategy at Akamai, announced that the company had set a new record on July 12 for the peak level of traffic for a single game ever delivered on its network. “Akamai Technologies set a new record on Thursday, July 12th, 2018, for the peak level of traffic delivered for a single video game on its network, at more than 37 Tbps peak across all platforms. This massive influx of traffic was driven by the launch of Epic Games’ cultural phenomenon: Fortnite, which launched its Season 5 on Thursday.” Read More: There’s Something Very Strange About the Slanted Roofs in Fortnite’s New Paradise Palms Location – Rodriguez went on to say that this was the equivalent of downloading a mobile game almost three million times per minute. “To put this into perspective, this level of traffic would be like downloading the average mobile game 2.8 million times per minute. This demonstrates both the continued success of Epic Games’ hit title, and the power and resiliency of the Akamai Intelligent Platform.” Reportedly, Akamai’s peak traffic for the 2016 U.S. Presidential election was just 7.5 Tbps, meaning that Season 5 of Fortnite took up around five times the bandwidth. As Rodriguez says, Fortnite has become a cultural phenomenon and shows no sign of going away any time soon. Available to play on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, iOS and Nintendo Switch, it is one of the most accessible games imaginable and has taken the world by storm.

The Fortnite Season 6 teaser images seem to be forming a bigger picture – Dexerto
The Fortnite Season 6 teaser images seem to be forming a bigger picture Fortnite fans are convinced that the teaser images for Season 6 of the game will fit together to fit a larger image of characters inside a cube. The first teaser image, which was released on September 24, showed what seems to be a “DJ Llama” and a strange lightning bolt. The whole image is in the same shade of purple as the mysterious cube that recently melted into Loot Lake. The second image follows in the same purple theme but this time it appears to show a female character in a cowgirl outfit and the caption “Saddle up,” which has led some people to suggest that horses (or perhaps ride-on Llamas) will be added in the near future. However, some fans of the game have noticed that the first two images seem to fit together and they’re convinced that any future ones will build upon them to eventually form an entire cube. Read More: Nate Hill and FunkBomb receive their punishments for Fortnite Fall Skirmish cheating incident – Quaidee-Contnet put together the first two pictures in a post on imgur and it’s pretty hard to argue with it proving that the images are fitting together: With the importance of the cube in Season 5, the fact that these images seem to be forming a cube probably shouldn’t come as a massive surprise. Some people believe that the cube was some sort of gateway into a dark parallel universe and that a major event will take place in Loot Lake where it dissolved and formed an impenetrable layer. Perhaps the third teaser image, which is expected to be released on September 26, will provide more answers and continue to help the community build the puzzle. Season 6 of Fortnite is due to begin on September 27 along with a major update.

The Fortnite Duo vs Squad world record has been broken on console yet again – Dexerto
The Fortnite Duo vs Squad world record has been broken on console yet again Fortnite Battle Royale players are constantly pushing themselves to achieve bigger and better things, whether that’s picking up their first ever Victory Royale or smashing world records. For the last few months we’ve been keeping track of those world records and it’s become a full-time job in itself as players continue to push the limits of what should be possible in the fast-paced shooter. In the last week we’ve seen the duo versus squads world record broken for both mobile and console players but it looks like the console record has been broken yet again, this time by ‘Gxly’ and ‘Scared’. The two players combined for a staggering 44 total kills, beating the score of 43 that was set by Jhawk and l3usty just days before. Scared picked up an impressive 13 kills while Glxy clutched up after his teammate died to post a ridiculous score of 31 eliminations. If you want to see footage of the incredibly performance from the two PlayStation 4 players out of the Oceanic region, they have both uploaded it from their own perspective on YouTube. Glxy’s POV: Scared’s POV: Fortnite players continue to show that we are only scratching the surface of what can be achieved in the game as building technique, aim and strategy becomes more of a component each day. While it’s incredibly impressive to see what the top professionals are capable of doing against one another during events like the Fortnite Fall Skirmish, there’s something equally as satisfying about watching high skilled players decimate the average players of the world. We try to keep on top of the current records at all times, but never hesitate to contact us if you believe we’ve missed a new one. Our full list of records for PC, console and mobile players can be found here.

The Fortnite Community React to Major Shotgun Update – Ninja, NoahJ456, WILDCAT and More – Dexerto
The Fortnite Community React to Major Shotgun Update – Ninja, NoahJ456, WILDCAT and More The Fortnite community is mixed in their response to the major overhaul of shotgun damage, as some speculate Epic Games is attempting to alter the game with a focus on esports. On June 6th Epic Games released an additional changes as part of the v4.3 content update, most significantly tweaking shotgun damage to make them slightly less powerful. Fortnite is a very casual game at its core, relying on random generated loot and weapon drops, with players never guaranteed to enter a gunfight with all the same advantages as their opponent, depending largely on luck. But there is, of course, skill involved also, with the ability to be accurate and build efficiently key to becoming a top player. If anything, shotguns have been criticized for lowering this skill gap, as there is less emphasis placed on accuracy and more on getting up close and personal while hoping shell spread will be on your side. So the nerf to damage is likely a move to lessen the reliance some players may have on shotguns and create a more balanced and ‘competitive’ experience – but not everyone is a fan of the decision. Top Fortnite streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins was surprised by the other change, which increased trap damage to 150, and seemed optimistic about the shotgun change. Interesting shotgun update and trap update. Weird they went from 125 to 75 up to 150… always felt 100 is the sweet spot. As for shotguns honestly double shotty is still very powerful. Double pump will still dominate, but heavy shotguns now deal more headshot dmg. — Ninja (@Ninja) June 6, 2018 Others were on the fence however, worried that the changes could lead to perhaps more inconsistent gunfights with shotguns. While some were concerned about the update, many are reserving their judgement until after they have spent some time with the changes. Here’s what some of the top Fortnite streamers and YouTubers had to say about the recent shotgun damage nerf. FaZe Agony New Fortnite update doesn’t allow pumps to 1 hit you at 200 health… I kinda like that and I kinda don’t — FaZe Agony (@Agony) June 6, 2018 NoahJ456 Fortnite Update: Shotguns nerfed (headshot multiplier + pump damage) Jetpacks being removed Monday Traps now do 150 damageThoughts? — NoahJ456 (@NoahJ456) June 6, 2018 WILDCAT I think having a shotgun that can do 200+ damage is important, but it needs to reward accuracy. Being able to double pump, or run pump tac didn’t reward accuracy. Make either the pump or heavy do 200+ and make it so you can only have 1 shotgun. — Tyler (@I_AM_WILDCAT) June 6, 2018 Also, Heavy + Tac will be new shotgun meta imo. Heavy shotty now does the most damage. — Tyler (@I_AM_WILDCAT) June 6, 2018 ImMarksman I can’t believe they just shit on the shotguns like that. S you can’t 1 pump anyone anymore with any shotgun in the game… — Im Marksman (@Marksman) June 6, 2018 The maximum damage a Blue Pump can do now is 170…? Guess if you’re close range now and you’re low HP you’re just screwed, no way to get a clutch shot off and reward accuracy. — Im Marksman (@Marksman) June 6, 2018 The good news out of this is that I don’t really double shotgun much, you know I love the Pump + SMG, so it doesn’t hurt me A TON. But I still don’t agree with that change. — Im Marksman (@Marksman) June 6, 2018 NickT28 love the transparency as always but… REMOVE DOUBLE PUMPING, it genuinly ruins the legitimacy of different shot gun types… Why do we even have a tac shotty (that shoots fast), or a heavy shotty (that shoots pretty fast), if x2 pump allows 10 shots off even faster? — Nick (@Nick28T) June 6, 2018

The Fortnite Duo vs Squad record has been broken on console once again – Dexerto
The Fortnite Duo vs Squad record has been broken on console once again While many players are content to get their Victory Royales, others attempt to go above and beyond with high-kill games to set world records. While one would think that the Fortnite world records have gotten to the point that it’d be incredibly hard to break, that doesn’t stop people from continually setting records with relative ease. Just under a month since the Duo vs Squad record was set for console players, two players have managed to do the unthinkable with another new record. The duo of ‘distncee’ and ‘Larsinz’ loaded up into a squad game and racked up an impressive 48 kills to break the record of 44 that was set by ‘Gxly’ and ‘Scared’ at the end of October. Larsinz tallied 27 kills himself, while distncee pulled in 21 of his own. Read More: Fans call for streamer to be banned for stream sniping Ninja during Fortnite Winter Royale qualifier – If you want to take a look at their incredible slaying prowess, you can see the entire game from distncee’s perspective below: Given that Fortnite has only been out for a little over a year, it’s still quite surprising to see the things that players are able to do. It might be cool to watch the pro players put up big numbers in the Winter Royale, but there’s nothing quite like watching other skilled players rake in kills during public matches. While we always try and stay on top of all the current world records, never hesitate to let us know if we’ve missed any. Our full list of records for PC, console and mobile players can be found here.

Fortnite community campaigns to get this eight-year-old’s skin concept added to the game – Dexerto
Fortnite community campaigns to get this eight-year-old’s skin concept added to the game tfoust10 / RedditThe Fortnite Battle Royale community is pulling together in an attempt to get an eight-year-old child’s skin concept added to the game. The skin, or outfit, in question is called the ‘Chicken Trooper’ and was originally shared on Reddit by the child’s parent, tfoust10. A picture of a sketch was accompanied with the heading “For the last couple months my 8yr old has consistently asked me to submit this suggestion to Fortnite developers. So… There you go.” The idea was a huge hit with the FortniteBR subreddit, with one user saying “you’re telling me the reason a Chicken Trooper skin doesn’t exist in the game right now is because you selfishly withheld on sharing this amazing suggestion for the last couple months!?” The proud parent went on to explain that they had not understood what skins were until very recently and said that their son, Connor, “got pretty excited and said he is going to draw a more detailed picture after school.” Other users, like Etsyturtle2 and Nikothedow, built upon the concept with more Chicken Trooper artwork that showed what it might look like in-game, causing the skin’s following to continue growing! It didn’t take long for tfoust10 to return with another picture, and a request for Epic Games. The picture shows the artistic eight-year-old holding a drawing of his concept and a note reading “Dear Fortnite, please add a skin in Fortnite called the Chicken Trooper”. The parent also wrote “my son was thrilled to come home today from school to see how Redditors made his Chicken Trooper request a big deal! Thanks for all the support. You guys really made his year! C’mon EPIC, it is your turn. Let’s add this.” With Season 6 of Fortnite just around the corner, there is sure to be an influx of brand new skins and cosmetic items added to the game. We just hope that one of them is the Chicken Trooper!

The Fortnite challenges for Week 6 of Season 7 have been leaked – Dexerto
The Fortnite challenges for Week 6 of Season 7 have been leaked The Fortnite Battle Royale challenges for Week 6 of Season 7 appear to have been leaked online almost a week ahead of time. The official Week 5, Season 7 challenges went live on January 3, asking players to perform a variety of tasks ranging from suppressed weapon eliminations to dancing on water towers and ‘searching between a giant rock man, a crowned tomato and an encircled tree’. However, the attention of many fans switched to what they can expect from the next week of quests following a leak on January 4 that seems to show all seven challenges. The challenges were shared via spreadsheet by the well-known Fortnite data mining and leaking account known as @lucas7yoshi_ on Twitter, who credits @shpankus for the information: If the information shown in the spreadsheet is correct, the Week 6, Season 7 Fortnite challenges should be as follows: Free Challenges Stage 1: Deal (200) damage with SMGs to opponents – 1 Battle Star Stage 2: Deal (200) damage with Assault Rifles to opponents – 1 Battle Star – Final Stage: Deal (200) damage with Grenades, Clingers, or Stink Bombs to opponents – 1 Battle Star – – Deal damage with (?) different weapons in a single match – 10 Battle Stars – Eliminate (3) opponents in Lucky Landing or Tiled Towers – 10 Battle Stars – Battle Pass Challenges Search an Ammo Box in (?) different named locations – 5 Battle Stars – Search (?) As always, we will be posting guides and tips throughout the day to help you get through them all as quickly as possible. “No game modifying was done for this,” claims @lucas7yoshi in a later Twitter post. Presumably the leaker is trying to avoid any punishment from Epic Games as the company continues to clamp down on data miners and leaks.

The Fortnite Challenges for Week 3 of Season 5 Have Been Leaked – Dexerto
The Fortnite Challenges for Week 3 of Season 5 Have Been Leaked As has become a common theme in recent seasons of Fortnite, dataminers have once again leaked the weekly challenges that are expected to go live on Thursday, July 26. Players around the world are already well on their way to unlocking the various skins, items, emotes and other cosmetics that are associated with the Season 5 tiers but week three looks set to be the most difficult so far. According to Storm Fortnite Leaks, there will be a mixture of the usual challenges, like following a treasure map and searching chests in a specific location, and some more vague ones like destroying specific targets. As reported by Forbes, this isn’t a datamining account that we have seen a great deal of in the past. But the leaked challenges, shown in the image below, do seem to make sense. If you can’t see the image, the leaked Week 3 challenges are as follows: Deal damage to passenger vehicles (0/1000) – Destroy specific targets (?/?) – Use a Launchpad (0/1) – Search Chests in Fatal Fields (0/7) – Follow the treasure map in Flush Factory (0/1) – Explosive eliminations (0/3) – Eliminate Opponents in Haunted Hills (0/3) – There is currently no detailed information about the “destroy specific targets” challenge, so players will have to wait until Thursday to find out exactly what it is referring to. The “deal damage to passenger vehicles” task clearly refers to the new All Terrain Kart (ATK) that was added to the game as part of the V5.0 patch at the start of Season 5. As is always the case with these leaks, nothing is confirmed and all of the information is subject to change. You will need to wait until July 26 for the official list to go live but history tells us that most, if not all, of the leaked challenges will become a reality.

Fortnite map is getting a Halloween makeover – could Skull Trooper skin come back? – Dexerto
Fortnite map is getting a Halloween makeover – could Skull Trooper skin come back? Spooky Halloween decorations have been spotted appearing on the Fortnite map, just in time for October – and some fans will be hoping the rare Skull Trooper skin will return. Just like last October, it looks like Epic Games will be full embracing Halloween in Fortnite, as various decorations are appearing dotted around the map. Last October, when Fortnite was still really in its infancy and nowhere near as popular as it is now, they completely gave the lobby an overhaul, and added Halloween themed weapons too. Because the game wasn’t as popular as it is today, the ‘Skull Trooper’ skin is now only owned by players who have been playing since the early days, making it very rare and desirable. The skin was spotted in the trailer for season 6 however, reigniting hopes that it could be added back into rotation in the store. Here are some of the first sightings of Halloween decorations spotted in game, on September 30, the first is from Pleasant Park. A Ghost lantern in Tilted Towers (Image: FNBR) Last October, items such as the pumpkin launcher were added – changing the standard RPG rockets into flying pumpkins – so fans can expect Epic Games to have a few new ideas up their sleeves. With Halloween still a month away, there is plenty more time for even more decorations to be added – possibly even with a whole makeover planned for an entire section of the map. Pleasant Park would be the most obvious location, so perhaps that entire area is set to take on a spooky exterior. Images: FNBR

The First Videos of Thanos in Fortnite Don’t Disappoint with High Profile Streamers Testing His Abilities The Fortnite servers are back online on the morning of May 8th after going down briefly in order to usher in Update V.4.1, which includes the new Infinity Gauntlet LTM. The crossover between Epic’s Fortnite game and Marvel’s Infinity War movie sent shockwaves across the internet on May 7th when it was announced, however it would only be in the patch notes, released a day later, when we’d find out his abilities and powers. Only available in the Infinity Gauntlet LTM mode, Thanos receives increased health and shields, alongside the ability to jump high in the air and attack opponents with a giant laser beam. The first official teaser for Season 6 of Fortnite has been released by Epic Games – Dexerto
The first official teaser for Season 6 of Fortnite has been released by Epic Games EA SportsEpic Games have released the first teaser image for Season 6 of Fortnite and, as is often the case, it creates more questions than it answers! With Season 6 due to begin on September 27, there is very little time remaining for some sort of major event to occur, but virtually everyone thinks that Loot Lake, which recently underwent some significant changes, will be at the epicenter of whatever does happen. Some people think that a strange portal into a darker parallel universe will be opened up, and others are convinced that there is going to be some sort of “volcano event.” However, one thing that nobody predicted was that the first teaser image would be a Fortnite Llama dressed as a DJ. Well, it was. Tweeted out by the official Fortnite Twitter account on September 25 with the caption “All great parties need a DJ.” and “3 days to Season 6,” the teaser doesn’t give us a huge amount to work on at first glance but is sure to be picked apart pixel by pixel by the community over the next 24 hours!

While we originally thought the imagery looked somewhat Egyptian, this description of some of the supernatural abilities of the kitsune from Japanese folklore seems to fit all too well with what has been happening in Fortnite so far: Some tales speak of kitsune with even greater powers, able to bend time and space, drive people mad, or take fantastic shapes such as a tree of incredible height or a second moon in the sky. A great deal of the speculation about Season has centered around the mysterious portals, or rifts, that have been appearing all over the map and either removing items or conjuring strange new ones. One of the most popular theories is that we will see some form of time travel, and this description of the kitsune goes hand in hand with that! The introduction of the Drum Gun, which is based off of the prohibition era Tommy Gun, was the first hint that we could be seeing some sort of time travel at the end of Season 4, and a great deal of hints have also pointed that way ever since. Of course, this is all simple speculation at this point and nothing will be confirmed until Season 4 comes to a close and Season 5 begins.

The Duos vs Squads console kill record in Fortnite has been broken – Dexerto
The Duos vs Squads console kill record in Fortnite has been broken A new pair of Fortnite players now hold the world record for most eliminations on console in the Duos vs Squads category. Competitive players ‘Toonah‘, who competes for Radiant Esports, and ‘Haslam,’ are the first pair of players to drop 40 eliminations when queuing up in a Squads lobby on console. The previous Duos vs Squads record on console was help by players ‘Rubes_94’ and ‘Upshall,’ who got 39 eliminations early in May. Toonah uploaded the full gameplay of the match, with both players dropping 20 eliminations each for the record setting performance. It’s worth noting that neither player team-killed the other at the end of the match, which further legitimizes their record. Although friendly fire is disabled, there are still ways to eliminate teammates without shooting at them, and players and teams in the past have tried to exploit that feature to add additional kills to their total. The most interesting part about this whole development is that this 40 elimination match was actually played way back in June, and neither player had any idea that they had just set a record. In the video, Toonah explains that, for them, it had just been another warm-up match ahead of a tournament. “We got 40 kills and we’re like ‘nah whatever, that’s probably not the record,’ and that was in June,” he explained. “Yesterday, our buddies were like ‘yo what’s your best kills,’ and we’re like ‘we got 40 in a Duo Squad one time,’ and they’re like ‘bro, 39’s the record.” So I went and got the gameplay, and here we are.” Regardless of when they achieved this feat, they are the only ones in the world who can legitimately prove that they’ve managed to get 40 eliminations in a Duos vs Squads match on console Fortnite. The video uploaded by Toonah, which includes the full gameplay of the match, can be viewed below: For a full list of all world records currently held in Fortnite Battle Royale as of October 23, visit our records hub HERE.

The ‘double pump’ is back in Fortnite – but there’s a catch – Dexerto
The ‘double pump’ is back in Fortnite – but there’s a catch Fortnite players have discovered that the infamous ‘double pump’ shotgun mechanic is back – players have now discovered it is possible on PC as well as mobile. The term ‘double pump’ refers to using two pump shotguns in tandem. Before an update removed it, it was possible for players to completely avoid the ‘pump’ animation, by switching rapidly between two pump shotguns. By shooting, swapping to the other pump, shooting again, and then swapping back, players would skip out the pumping animation of the weapon, allowing for rapid firing. How to watch Fortnite’s Ice Storm live in-game event – countdown, Ice King reveal and moreIt was a well received change, as players had grown tired of the overpowered nature of the double pump exploit, but it looks like it has made a return on the mobile version of Fortnite. Discovered by Twitter user @FNBRHQ, the clip below showcases how the once hated double pump action is possible on mobile. BREAKING NEWS: DOUBLE PUMP IS BACK ON MOBILE #FORTNITE pic.twitter.com/8GIXgOLz1t — Fortnite News :snowflake:️ (@FNBRHQ) January 19, 2019 Update, 12pm EST: It has now been discovered that the double pump is in fact possible on PC too, and is particularly effective when using the Heavy Pump shotgun. Top streamer and TSM player Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani, showcased on his stream that the double pump is possible with the heavy variant. It’s unclear if this is an intentional addition to the the game, perhaps in an attempt to help make engagements at close range feel smoother. It’s much more likely that this is an unintentional bug, which once Epic Games are made aware of, they will look to remove. For the time being, Fortnite players will want to be very wary of any opponents wielding two pump shotguns.

Investigation finds organized crime involved in Fortnite V-Buck scams – Dexerto
Investigation finds organized crime involved in Fortnite V-Buck scams Epic GamesFortnite’s V-Bucks are being used by cybercriminals in order to launder money, a British newspaper has revealed. Fortnite is a free-to-play game for all platforms, but V-Bucks can be added to players’ accounts using the game’s official store and are supposed to be spent on customizable items, like new skins, emotes, weapon wraps and much more. However, an investigation – which was carried out by The Independent – has uncovered many of the dark secrets behind a growing illegal market that relies solely on the in-game currency in order to clean dirty money. V-Bucks are reportedly being bought by criminals using stolen credit card details and are being offered to players for a discounted price online. The report was put together in collaboration with Sixgill, a cyber security firm, and found that the cut price deals are also available on the open web as well, with many sellers using social media platforms to advertize – meaning parents might have unknowingly bought illegally sourced V-Bucks for their children. Over 53,000 alerts related to Fortnite scams were recorded by ZeroFOX during September and October in 2018, with 2% found on YouTube, 11% coming from web domains and a staggering 86% from social media. “Threat actors are scoffing at Epic Games’ weak security measures, saying that the company doesn’t seem to care about players defrauding the system and purchasing discounted V-bucks” Benjamin Preminger, a senior intelligence analyst at Sixgill, told The Independent. “This directly touches on the ability of threat actors to launder money through the game.” While it’s difficult to calculate just how much money cybercriminals have made from these methods, Sixgill reckons Fortnite items grossed north of $250,000 on eBay during a period of 60 days last year. One post from the dark web, which can be seen in the screenshot above, shows just how easy it can be for somebody to be tricked into buying these illegal V-Bucks. They are available at a massively discounted rate and customers were given the choice by this vendor to pay with dollars or cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin. “I’m fucking rich as fuck,” the description for the posting read. “Now it’s time to give back to the deep web at a massive discounted rate.”

The Baller gets major change ahead of Fortnite World Cup – Dexerto
The Baller gets major change ahead of Fortnite World Cup Epic GamesEpic Games have rolled out their first major change to vehicles, with The Baller receiving a significant nerf ahead of the Fortnite World Cup. Many Fortnite players would have been expecting the first change to be included in the latest v8.30 content update, but the only mention of anything vehicle related was Reboot Vans being scattered around the map to give players a second chance after being eliminated. However, the developer has now revealed that they had implemented a hotfix for the game’s hamster ball vehicle, following complaints from members of the game’s competitive community. Baller finally gets a nerf in Fortnite “We deployed a hotfix reducing the health of The Baller from 300 to 200,” Epic posted to the Fortnite BR subreddit. “In the 8.20 patch notes, we said we would add the ability to shoot through the glass of Ballers in a future update. We’ve played with shooting through glass and it didn’t feel like the right solution,” they added. The vehicle, which has had its problems in the past and was once temporarily removed from the game, now has less health. This means that those driving the vehicle will now be more vulnerable than they would have been in the past. Members of the game’s online community have since given their feedback on the change, and it’s generally more positive than negative. One Reddit user described the change as a “step in the right direction,” while others suggested that simply removing The Baller from competitive would level things out. After the developer confirmed that changes to vehicles were indeed on the way, in response to previous rumors, it’s now expected that further tweaks will be made by Epic Games ahead of the Fortnite World Cup tournament. The competition is set to take place between July 26-28.

The Current Fortnite Meta Leaves Team Liquid’s Poach Infuriated – Dexerto
The Current Fortnite Meta Leaves Team Liquid’s Poach Infuriated LiquidPoach / TwitterTeam Liquid’s Jake ‘Poach’ Brumleve expressed his exasperation with the current Fortnite Battle Royale meta during a recent Twitch stream. The professional player encountered an opponent that tore through his walls quicker than he could build them, eventually eliminating him with a Minigun. Throughout the sequence Poach can be heard saying “are you trolling me? How many frigging walls has this man just fazed through?” and “anybody not realize like how dumb this meta is? Am I the only one? Why is this a thing?” After leaving the game, Poach exclaims: “Oh my fucking god, I hate this game, “I build over him and immediately he just fazed right through, jumped right through that ramp, and then that was just awesome” Poach is echoing the sentiments of many Fortnite players that have been left disillusioned by the meta changes in Season 5 that saw building get nerfed and weapons like submachine guns become significantly more powerful. Some players have taken to calling it the “spray and pray” meta due to the shift from shotguns, precision shots, and building battles to a game that is more forgiving of running at opponents and shooting an SMG as they struggle to build their defences. In a Reddit thread discussing the above clip, one user stated “Spray and pray meta is so stupid. Completely ruins the fun and skill gap of building” and another followed up with “Hold Mouse 1 + W is literally the new meta.”

Why has ‘The Baller’ in Fortnite been disabled? Epic Games respond [UPDATED] – Dexerto
Why has ‘The Baller’ in Fortnite been disabled? Epic Games respond [UPDATED] Update, March 18, 12:30 EST: ‘The Baller’ has now been re-enabled in Fortnite, and Epic Games has stated that they “collected the data they were looking for”. It’s unknown if a fix for the random death bug has been rolled out. We’ve collected the data we were looking for and have re-enabled The Baller. Jump in the driver seat and roll out! — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) March 18, 2019 Epic Games disabled the newest mobility feature in Fortnite Battle Royale, ‘The Baller’, on March 18 as they investigated issues, presumably due to the random death glitch discovered by players. On March 17, players began reporting an issue with the new Baller, showing that they would randomly lose all their health and be eliminated from a match when landing in certain spots. It was unclear what was causing the frustrating bug, as it was happening in various locations around the map, with little consistency. In response, Epic Games disabled The Baller on March 18, presumably due to this issue, although they did not specify, explaining only that there was a “stability issue”. The Baller was later re-enabled after a few hours, and players will be hoping that whatever Epic tweaked has solved the death glitch. We’ve temporarily disabled The Baller while we investigate a stability issue. We’ll roll out a status update once we know more. — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) March 18, 2019 Some players, particularly the competitive community, were perhaps hoping to see a more permanent end to The Baller, as there is debate over whether it was a good addition or not. For now though, it’s back in the game, so make the most of it while it’s available!

The $10 million Fortnite Fall Skirmish has two competition formats – Dexerto
The $10 million Fortnite Fall Skirmish has two competition formats Epic Games has announced the Fortnite Fall Skirmish, a 6 week competitive series featuring a new dual-format approach, and a $10 million prize pool. Released in a statement on the Epic Games website, the developers of the popular battle royale game confirmed that Fall Skirmish would begin on Friday, September 21, and would run across six weeks, culminating at Twitchcon on October 26-28. The Fall Skirmish will include two play formats, Competitive and Entertainment, that will allow players in the series more ways to compete, whether it be in ATK races, golf tournaments or other mini-games. Players will still be going head-to-head “high skill competition”, as seen in the Summer Skirmish. Fortnite will also be hosting an in-game tournament named Showdown Royale, giving every player an opportunity to compete for prizes. There’s very few details currently available at this time, but Epic Games have confirmed that it’s set to begin in October. There’s currently no information about what Week 1 of the Fall Skirmish will actually entail, but Epic Games are set to release a further statement next week with more information. Epic Games will also release more information about it’s Twitchcon event in the future, along with information on how to pre-register for the tournament.

The 7 worst Fortnite moments in history, ranked – Dexerto
The 7 worst Fortnite moments in history, ranked Epic GamesFortnite Battle Royale has undoubtedly been one of the most popular games in the world since its 2017 release, but there have been some absolutely terrible moments that players may want to forget ever happened as well. The game’s esports scene was once touted as the next big thing, with prize pools like no other. The Fortnite World Cup of 2019 saw Kyle ‘Bugha’ Giersdorf go home with a whopping $3 million, and with so much money up for grabs, the contempt from the competitive community spread like wildfire. Every decision from developers was being scrutinized. The time’s patches were released, the guns vaulted, trying to keep up with the meta, and young children thrown into the spotlight for being good at what is – let’s face it – a game always angled for the younger generation. Since then, a lot of the YouTubers and pro players who used Fortnite in their rise to prominence have since given up on it. While a lot of players took some of the worst moments to heart in Fortnite’s history, let’s take a moment to reflect on them with a bit of comedy. Because some of this, you just couldn’t make up. Oh, we’ve ranked them as well. 7 – Ballers Just when you thought Fortnite essentially turning into Sea of Thieves for a few weeks was bad enough, some Jurassic Park style balls entered the mix and made things a whole lot worse. At one stage, people would be using these annoying vehicles right up to the final circle they were so fast and difficult to destroy. There was even one bug, involving the volcano, that shot the vehicle up so high you could see a full birds-eye view of the map. We finally saw them removed in Season 10, thankfully. 6 – Vaulting the Pump Shotgun One of the biggest outcries from the Fortnite community came back in Season 9, Chapter 1. The Pump Shotgun – which was by far the most popular in its class – was kicked to the curb, and replaced by the Combat Shotty. Did you seriously just vault the most important gun in your game? Theres no way you guys are this out of touch — Chap (@ChapFN) May 9, 2019 After being called everything from out of touch to clueless, Epic eventually u-turned on their decision and brought it back. It’s fair to say at this point, some had totally lost it with the amount of strange weapon changes in-game. Such a strange, but memorable, gaffe. 5 – Patch notes were vaulted When Chapter 2 came around and we were all sucked into that big black hole, the game was unplayable for some time. Millions of posts were made on social media, and from an advertising standpoint, it was a tremendous success. Everybody was talking about what was happening in the game and had no idea where they were going next. Problem is, we still didn’t have a clue what had changed when we dropped into Chapter 2. In fact, we’ve been none the wiser about what’s changing from patch to patch ever since, leaving players to run around and find things themselves. The patch notes were an opportunity for the dev team to show off new features and for players to get excited by changes, which were a weekly tradition. Since then, hype has dwindled and patches generally feel like they land without the same heavy punch. It was a terrible decision – and one we still can’t get our heads around. 4 – The content drought There was a lot to be excited about when Chapter 2 dropped. It felt fresh, mixed things up. Though, coupled with the absence of patch notes, there wasn’t actually a lot going on for a long period of time. The developers delayed the release of Season 2, Chapter 2 until way after Christmas which meant the game reached its longest-ever period without a major update. This content drought, as many would call it, killed off any hopes of big streamers sticking around and by the time Season 2 came around a lot of YouTubers and Twitch streamers – who were driving FN hype – had turned their back on the game. It hasn’t quite recovered since. 3 – Planes The X-4 Stormwing plans were just horrible from the word go. They were so overpowered and needed to be nerfed many times over before being able to stay in the game, but even then we had professional players teaming in them during tournaments. It was just a big mess from start to finish. In Season 7 when they were first added, they could knock down entire structures and not suffer damage themselves. They could tear through teams with the gun function at the front, and generally, it was very difficult to hit those opponents high in the sky. They scrapped the vehicle in Season 8, with the consensus being: good riddance. It was hilarious to see tournaments ruined by the things, though, you have to admit that. 2 – BRUTE Mechs The BRUTE Mech suits were like something from another world, walking giants that didn’t quite belong in Fortnite – but rather Fallout. They were super difficult to take down at first, and while in short supply, you would still see these dominant machines ruining gunfights right to the final circle in almost every game. They had rocket launchers, two people could safely operate them, and get around the map with these insane jumps in seconds. What a wild time to play the game. Fantastic when you’re a terrible player laying waste to players who have been sweating for wins all night, yet in real terms, just not something anybody ever wanted to see in the game. They were changed, tweaked, and all that good stuff for a period of time – but eventually Epic Games realized they needed to put the old dog down. 1 – Infinity Blade This one tops all of the rest. It’s really the outrageous nature and certain doom factor that came with the Infinity Blade that makes it the worst thing to ever happen to the game. The idea sounded great as well. The entire lobby dives into one location trying to get it, the one who does wield it gets a huge armor boost and can slay the entire lobby for being the fastest there. Actually, on second thoughts, no. That’s a terrible idea! What we really ended up with was games where players were killed off in insane numbers in the first few minutes. The rest being a long-drawn-out process. When you did reach the closing stages – shock horror – the Infinity Blade would be waiting to destroy you. Imagine winning tournament prize money with this thing! The most ludicrous thing we’ve ever seen in the Fortnite world.

Thanos LTM possibly returning to Fortnite for Avengers: Endgame – Dexerto
Thanos LTM possibly returning to Fortnite for Avengers: Endgame Marvel villain Thanos might be making his long-awaited return to Fortnite Battle Royale soon, just in time for the release of Avengers: Endgame, indicated by new data mined game files from the v8.30 update. The April 10 Fortnite update wasn’t exactly celebrated by players, as many of the issues they hoped to see fixed were not, but for data miners, it was the another opportunity to see what the could find deep in the game files. As with every successive Fortnite update, these data miners look for clues about upcoming content, game modes, cosmetic items and more – and one such data miner appears to have stumbled upon the return of Thanos. Is Thanos coming back to Fortnite for Avengers: Endgame? Following the release of Infinity War, in April 2018, Fortnite developers Epic Games partnered up with the Russo brothers to bring the main villain, Thanos, directly into the game. Given his own separate mode, Thanos could be ‘played’ by one player on the map at a time, simply by finding his ‘Infinity Gauntlet’ on the map. However, the mode was only available for a limited time, and hasn’t been seen, or heard about, since. With the next, and final, entry in the current Avengers story releasing soon, Fortnite fans speculated that the Purple villain could make a return, but this line of code from the game files following the v8.30 update may in fact be the confirmation that Thanos is indeed coming back to the battle royale game. ‘Yielded to the POWER of Thanos’ would be the death message used when a player is taken out by Thanos, presumably, and it is intriguing that is has been added to the game now, of all times. New Kill Feed messages (1st image) and new Death Feed messages (2nd image) “”unleashed an inferno on”” sounds interesting…#fortnite pic.twitter.com/ROZnzTfLXo — Skin-Tracker (@SkinTrackerCom) April 10, 2019 Avengers: Endgame releases in cinemas on April 26, exactly a year after the release of Infinity War. Of course, this is just a game file, and it could be purely coincidental – but the timing is too perfect not to spark some speculation. It’s true that Fortnite has received some negative feedback on other ‘overpowered’ items being put in the game (namely with Infinity Blade), but as long as Thanos is placed in a separate LTM (limited time mode), then fans would surely love to have him back – maybe this time with a hero or two as well…

Thanos Accidentally Rocket Rides During Intense Fortnite Battle and Uses the Opportunity to Dance in Hilarious Clip – Dexerto
Thanos Accidentally Rocket Rides During Intense Fortnite Battle and Uses the Opportunity to Dance in Hilarious Clip If you’ve never seen Thanos riding a rocket while dancing in Fortnite Battle Royale, can you really say that you’ve lived a full and happy life? Thanos, the main villain in Marvel’s new Avengers Infinity War film, is currently roaming the streets of Fortnite Battle Royale as part of the “Infinity Gauntlet” limited time mode. Basically, players search for Thanos’ Gauntlet around the map and once they find it they can turn into the all-powerful Titan and use a number of special abilities. These include a “mighty punch”, flying towards the ground, hitting an area for knockback and damage, firing a blast that deals damage over time and a “super-jump that can vault Thanos over all but the largest obstructions”. But nothing comes close to his Rocket Riding abilities, as Reddit user severed-identity displayed in a hilarious clip on May 10th when Thanos found himself on a missile mid-dive. Originally shared on gfycat by @itsmeurboyblue, the clip only gets better when the player takes the opportunity to lay down some nifty dance moves. This is just one of many hilarious moments that have occurred since Thanos’ introduction to the game. The Infinity Gauntlet mode has, without a doubt, provided some of the most entertaining Fortnite Battle Royale gameplay in recent memories and will be sadly missed when it comes to an end. Epic Games definitely have a lot to live up to with future Limited Time Modes.

Tfue won a Fortnite tournament with the flu, and threw up mid-game – Dexerto
Tfue won a Fortnite tournament with the flu, and threw up mid-game FaZe Clan Fortnite pro Tfue won the second week of the game’s Fall Skirmish series while sick with the flu – even throwing up in the middle of a game. Tfue noted to his audience during a stream of the event that he was feeling out of sorts, expressing that he felt fairly nauseous. “I just wanna lay down, man,” he said. “I don’t even wanna think about it dude, I’m gonna throw up.” He could be seen retching just off-camera as he presumably reached for a wastebasket. Tfue tweeted about his comeback after securing a Victory Royale Flush in game two. “Went from puking to dropping a Victory Royale flush game 2 in fall skirmish week 2,” he wrote, much to his fans’ amusement. Went from puking to dropping a victory royale flush game 2 in fall skirmish week 2 — FaZe Tfue (@TTfue) September 28, 2018 That wasn’t the only crazy instance the pro had on-stream during the Skirmish, either. He even left his setup to use the bathroom, then came back to win the game. Tfue’s #1 placement in the second Fall Skirmish event was met with raucous celebration from his teammates. He dove out of his window at his victory, where the rest of FaZe clan could be heard cheering. I just watched @TTfue take a piss in the middle of a Fall Skirmish game… He also came back, rifted to the perfect position, and went on to win the game. — OpTic CouRage (@CouRageJD) September 28, 2018 Tfue is currently at the top of the tournament’s standings. His determination through sickness shows just how hard the streamer is willing to work for his results – even going so far as to compete while throwing up.

Tfue wins Fortnite Champion Series with new squad following Cloak beef – Dexerto
Tfue wins Fortnite Champion Series with new squad following Cloak beef Twitter: TTfue / Epic GamesFaZe Clan star Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney has won his first Fortnite Battle Royale Champion Series after breaking up with duo Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore with a whole new squad. Tfue and Cloak were thought to be the inseparable duo. The two had been competing under the FaZe banner for over a year, dominating the competition online and at events like TwitchCon 2018. However, after a very public breakup involving Cloak, Thomas ‘72hrs’ Mulligan, and $140,000 of missed partnership deals, Tfue split from his long-time partner to start anew. It didn’t take long for the Twitch superstar to find success with his new trio though, as he, Alex ‘Fiber’ Bonetello, and ‘Khanada’ took down the rest of the competition in the Fortnite Champion Series Trios event in week five. The trio started off the weekend shaky after missing the first half hour of September 14’s block, meaning they were only able to play eight of their nine games. That didn’t stop them from coming in fifth with 131 points, only 21 points behind first, and 83 eliminations. Read more: Bugha hits insane snipe in FCS – Tfue’s squad had a quieter performance on Sunday in the finals, with 124 points and 64 eliminations, but it was enough to secure first place over the likes of defending Fortnite World Cup champion Kyle ‘Bugha’ Giersdorf and his team. The Fortnite star posted the results on Twitter, simply captioned “let’s f**king go.” While neither of the three winners streamed their gameplay this week, Khanada followed Bugha throughout the final game nervously. Read more: Tfue slams cheater for targeting him in-game – He was in a call with Tfue and Fiber, waiting in anticipation for the World Cup champion to finish his game. Emotions ran to a fever pitch after everything was confirmed though, with the trio celebrating their opponent’s getting knocked out, securing them the win. They took home $60,000 for their performance and qualified for the Season Finals, but for Tfue, it came with an extra little bit of vindication. In his first week without his long-term partners, he managed to secure his first Fortnite Champion Series win after weeks of being so close. He finished as high as fifth in previous weeks, and has had two top 10 placings. On the other hand, Cloak and 72hrs struggled throughout their weekend, with the latter being disconnected multiple times during their attempted run. They made it to the finals alongside Owen ‘Animal’ Wright, but didn’t finish in the top 10. Tfue will be looking to keep the wins coming with his new partners when the Season Finals kick off next weekend.

Tfue wipes out Ninja and his Fortnite squad with nasty snipe – Dexerto
Tfue wipes out Ninja and his Fortnite squad with nasty snipe Popular Fortnite professional Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney was able to get a leg up on longtime rival Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins after wiping him and his team out of a squads match. Tfue and Ninja have a long-standing history, doing battle in H1Z1’s battle royale mode before kicking it up a notch in Fortnite. Despite being two of the most popular members of the game’s community, the pair seemingly do not get on – with Tfue himself claiming that Ninja has always hated him. So, whenever they get the chance to lock horns in Fortnite, sparks usually fly and stream viewers go off the rails with their spam. That was, of course, no different during the October 26 round of the Fortnite Championship Series warm-up when their respective squads went head-to-head. While both teams put in solid showings throughout the event, it was Tfue who stole the show with an incredible sniper shot. As his squad pushed towards the safe zone within Frenzy Farm, he hit a 78-meter shot on a player crawling into the cornfields. As Tfue’s squad debated whether or not to take the fight, one member repeatedly called out that it was Ninja and his team. That call-out prompted them to sprint and get right into the middle of the action, hoping to eliminate the Mixer streamer’s squad. Can’t see the clip below on mobile? Click here That’s easier said than done, however, considering the fact that there were over 40 players left and the zone was growing smaller and smaller. It didn’t matter all too much, though, as Tfue’s team continued on with their rush, managing to take out members of Ninja’s team. As they corraled the final two players into a small area, Tfue himself gunned them down with back-to-back shotgun blasts. Can’t see the clip below on mobile? Click here Even though he may have lost a battle within the warm-up series war, it wasn’t all bad news for Ninja considering his new-look squad got some high-level practice in against top-tier Fortnite pros. Both he and Tfue will be hoping for success in the Fortnite Championship Series which gets underway, officially, on November 1.

Tfue on why he has “less respect” for controller Fortnite players after using one – Dexerto
Tfue on why he has “less respect” for controller Fortnite players after using one Fortnite superstar Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney has revealed that he has “less respect” for players who use a controller, after spending four hours on stream using one himself. Tfue is regarded as one of the best Fortnite players in the world, ranking as the second highest earner in history, thanks to his skills on the keyboard and mouse. However, many players have also risen to the top using a controller, demonstrating ridiculous building skills and aim – leading to some PC players feeling that are at a serious disadvantage. Nevertheless, the Florida native wanted to test it out for himself and partnered with one of the best controller players in the world in FaZe Clan’s Josue ‘Sway’ to conduct his experiment. After a short while on the sticks, he eventually went back to his normal setup and revealed he has “less respect” for controller players after trying it for himself. (Timestamp – 1:46 for mobile users) “After playing controller, I don’t think I have more respect for them,” Tfue said. “I probably have a little bit less. With that being said, I do respect them. Read More: When is the Fortnite Cattus vs Doggus event? – “I didn’t think I was going to be able to pick up a controller and play as well as I did.” The former FaZe Clan star stated he felt the main advantage controller players had was comfort, revealing it’s extremely difficult to mess up with a pad in hand, compared to a keyboard. He said: “Everything button you press is so comfortable. On a controller, it’s hard to fuck up when you’re trying to hit something. “On PC, it’s so difficult to hit the keys that you want. Reason being – controllers are built for gaming and keyboards are not.” Tfue went on to say he felt some aspects of his building actually felt better on controller, but added that he believed PC players were higher skilled. Given his overwhelming success on the keyboard and mouse – qualifying for the upcoming Fortnite World Cup – it’s unlikely to see the 21-year-old make the switch anytime soon.

Tfue weighs in on the console aim assist debate in Fortnite – Dexerto
Tfue weighs in on the console aim assist debate in Fortnite Yet another pro Fortnite player has shared his thoughts on the recent hot topic of aim assist for console Fortnite players. The conversation was first started when Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins declared that aim assist should be removed from the game after dying to a console player. After 100 Thieves streamer Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff defended the presence of aim assist on consoles, FaZe Clan pro Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney has weighed in on the debate with a unique opinion. Addressing the issue on his stream, Tfue ultimately agrees that console players should have aim assist since they’re at an inherent disadvantage. “These mother fuckers on controllers are aiming with a god damn, I don’t even know dude, a legit piece of plastic,” Tfue says about console Fortnite players. The streamer doesn’t stop there, however, decided to give console controllers a unique name. “They’re over there trying to aim with a plastic clitoris dude. It’s like dude, just give them aim assist.” Getting more serious, Tfue continues by saying that removing aim assist from consoles would be a bad move since the game wouldn’t be as fun anymore. “The game on Xbox would be so much less enjoyable [without aim assist]. It would kill their game,” concludes Tfue on the controversial issue. He even goes on to discuss the casual vs. competitive aspect of Fortnite, saying that even though he doesn’t agree with it, Epic Games shouldn’t introduce a skill gap since fewer people would play the game. This is likely a debate that won’t go away anytime soon, as streamers and pro players continue to have varying opinions on every aspect of the game. Given that Fortnite recently reached over eight million concurrent players, it seems likely that Epic Games will continue making decisions that will bring in the most players.

Tfue weighs in on beef between Ninja and Dakotaz – Dexerto
Tfue weighs in on beef between Ninja and Dakotaz Streamer Turner ‘tfue’ Tenney waded into the ongoing feud between Twitch personality Brett ‘Dakotaz’ Hoffman and Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins by poking fun at the Mixer star. Ninja and Dakotaz have already been taking shots at each other, disagreeing over whether content creators should be able to criticize the game they are playing, in this case, Fortnite. On December 20, Blevins released a video in which he lashed out at streamers for criticizing Fortnite, encouraging them to go and play other games instead, and Dakotaz hit back on December 24. After Dakotaz blocked Ninja on Twitter, he went on to explain that he didn’t need Ninja’s “12 year old army” after him every time the two had a disagreement. In response, tfue posted a shopped picture of Ninja holding a pair of Hot Wheels velcro kids shoes, an obvious dig at the “12 year old army” line. Tfue’s joke immediately began racking up the likes and got a response from Dakotaz himself, who seemed to really enjoy all the Ninja roasting going on. The Hot Wheels shoes seemed to strike a nerve with the Blevins clan, since both Ninja and his wife Jessica decided to respond to the jab. All Ninja said in reply was “original,” to show he was definitely not mad about the picture at all, no matter how funny it was. “Lul…people made fun of Yeezys too. Pretty sure Adidas knows what they’re doing…but the sales will show,” Jessica added. “Just can’t really take this seriously since tfue has no shoe contract. Let’s compare then.” Lul…people made fun of Yeezys too. Pretty sure Adidas knows what they’re doing…but the sales will show. Just can’t really take this seriously since tfue has no shoe contract. Let’s compare then. — Jessica Blevins (@JessicaBlevins) December 24, 2019 At this point, it’s safe to say that the feud probably won’t see a Christmas truce, since now it’s become a family affair, at least for the Blevins clan.

Tfue weighs in after Fortnite player is accused of cheating in World Cup qualifiers – Dexerto
Tfue weighs in after Fortnite player is accused of cheating in World Cup qualifiers FaZe ClanAfter allegations of cheating marred the first set of qualifiers for the $30 million Fortnite World Cup, FaZe Clan pro Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney joked that he’ll recruit the accused player to help him secure his own spot. Fortnite player accused of cheating in World Cup qualifiers An aspiring Fortnite player, known as ‘Dubs’, apparently cheated his way to a 2nd place finish in the online qualifiers, which would give him a ticket to the finals in New York in July. Messages were posted online which appear to show Dubs thanking the seller of said cheats, and complimenting their effectiveness, stating: “[T]his cheat is lethal … my duo partner didn’t even notice anything.” The messages cannot be verified as authentic however, and Dubs himself has vehemently denied the accusations, explaining on Twitter: “I understand there’s been a lot of accusations about me cheating, but I’m not, and I’m willing to stream future solo qualifiers to show you that. […] All I have to say is fuck all the people that don’t believe. I’m not cheating and I’ll see you guys at the World Cup.” Fortnite pros react to cheater being “exposed” Because Dubs managed to take 2nd place in the qualifiers – potentially taking another player’s spot – many pro players were understandably concerned. Tfue, who has already stated he will be retiring from competitive play after the World Cup, made light of the situation, joking that he would recruit Dubs to be his partner for upcoming qualifiers. Tfue and his actual duos partner, Dennis ‘Cloak‘ Lepore, discussed the situation on stream too, and Cloak also wanted in on the deal. “Alright, you get [Dubs] this week and then I’ll get him next week”, joked Lepore, “and then once we both get there, since we’ll be on LAN, then we can be duo partners.” Other pro players were concerned that the cheating problem may be more widespread too. If players can be cheating without detection by anti-cheat systems, how big of a problem could it really be? With literally millions of dollars on the line, there is an obvious concern that developers Epic Games must address, as CLG’s ‘WishhYaLuck’ makes clear. I understand everyone is coming for johnny tk and dubs rn BUT HOW MANY OTHER MOTHERFUCKERS ARE RUNNING THIS SHIT MAN I got triple headshotted game 2 and died 26th place. That shit was fishy as fuck. Man fuck this game. — CLG Wish (@WishYaLuckk) April 16, 2019 Team Kaliber kicked their own professional player, JohnnyK, after it was revealed that he had purchased cheats with the intention of using them in World Cup qualifiers. Dakotaz and FaZe Clan’s Avxry also discussed the issue, with the latter pointing the finger at lack of developer engagement on the issue. I mean when the devs and heads go MIA during the most important event in the games history. What can we expect — FaZe Avery (@Avxry) April 16, 2019 First place in the solos tournament at the Fortnite World Cup will net $3 million – the largest prize ever for a single player in esports history. With such a ridiculous amount of money up for grabs, it is alarming that cheating most likely is at play in the qualifiers.

Tfue trolls Ninja’s Fortnite squad with humiliating kill in FNCS – Dexerto
Tfue trolls Ninja’s Fortnite squad with humiliating kill in FNCS Popular Fortnite pro Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney got another set of bragging rights over Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins after finishing off his team with a pickaxe kill on the way to a victory royale. The long-standing rivalry between Tfue and Ninja has been well-documented and stretches back before their Fortnite days. They used to throw down in H1Z1 before switching to Epic Games’ title, and from there, they’ve been going head-to-head ever since. The streamers have traded blows back and forth on-stream, with Tfue getting the upper-hand before Ninja beat him in a World Cup warm-up game. While it may seem like an in-game rivalry, Tfue has gone as far as claiming that they’ve never gotten on. So, when he was handed the chance to finish off Ninja’s team in the final zone of a match, it made sense to plenty of viewers that he was going to do it in style. Of course, during his November 16 stream, Tenney did just that while playing in a round of Fortnite Championship Series matches. The popular Twitch streamer was left to clutch up as his teammates dropped at the hands of Malachi ‘Reverse2k’ Greiner. Instead of pulling out a Compact SMG or a Pump Shotgun, Ninja let the zone tick away at Reverse2K’s health before delivering the final few blows with a pickaxe. While some fans may have assumed that there’d be a big blow-off celebration from Tenney, he was a bit more subdued than that – settling for a few strange noises and a big smile instead. As for Ninja, well he tipped his cap to his teammate for trying to clutch and but noted that there was nothing he could do in the end. Timestamp for mobile viewers of 3:18 Even though they lost the battle again Tfue, in pretty humiliating fashion, it wasn’t all bad news for Ninja’s new-look squad. They managed to finish up the online round of matches in a solid sixth position, while Tfue’s squad climbed to third with three victories from seven games.

Tfue uncovers Fortnite exploit where you never have to reload again – Dexerto
Tfue uncovers Fortnite exploit where you never have to reload again Tfue, YouTube / Epic GamesTwitch star Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney has shared a new Fortnite weapon exploit, that allows players to target their opponents without ever needing to reload, following the v13.20 update. The recent 13.20 update brought even more changes to Fortnite’s Season 3, introducing new weapons and items such as the Flare Gun and Portable Upgrade Bench to the battle royale title. However, it seems as if Epic Games also added an unintended exploit on June 30, which can allow players to maintain bullets in their weapon despite never hitting the reload button. Popular streamer Tfue returned to Fortnite to test out the latest patch’s changes and broadcasted his efforts in the Trio Tournament alongside fellow pros scoped and innocents on July 1. During his tournament run, one of his viewers highlighted a strange exploit that could take place when you drop weapons from your inventory in Fortnite. “Someone said if you drop weapons it automatically reloads, I don’t believe that for a second,” Tfue responded, before his teammates confirmed that they had also heard of the glitch being possible in Season 3. Although he was in a late-game situation when the comment came through, the streamer tried it for himself in the following match, when there were fewer opponents around to hear his shots. To his surprise, the simple reload trick worked with ease and he then explained that it was broken, adding, “Yeah it works, that sh** is broken, I’m doing that all day. I’m never reloading.” Despite Tfue finding it to be quite overpowered, his teammates, who both play on a controller, shared that the exploit might not work as well for them and other console players, highlighting the amount of time it takes to drop and pick up a weapon mid-fight. Tfue followed up by claiming it was quite easy to pull off with the help of a mouse and keyboard and that PC players could have a slight advantage when utilizing this glitch in Fortnite. It is still unclear whether Epic Games intended to add this feature, however, it is likely that it could be patched in one of the future updates.

Tfue trolls “egirls” after paying them to play Fortnite with him again – Dexerto
Tfue trolls “egirls” after paying them to play Fortnite with him again Twitch: TfueAs one of the biggest streamers on Twitch, it’s crucial that Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney keeps his content fresh and entertaining, and he’s turned to a new method of doing so – by paying “egirls” to play Fortnite with him. Tfue uses an online service called ‘E-Girl’, where solo gamers can pay someone to play with them. Unlike the Fortnite training companions that players can pay to improve their game, these players are simply for some company. It’s not the first time Tfue has tried out the service either, as he previously pretended to be rival streamer Ninja to a group of three girls he had paid to play with, and seemed to get away with it too. His viewers got such a kick out of it, that Tfue had to do it again, and so on his March 24 stream, recruited three more “egirls” to get in some games with him. But, rather than trying to show off his world-renowned Fortnite skills, Tfue decided to troll his new teammates instead, purposefully throwing an easy win. And he wasn’t done there. In another match, Tfue joked that he was ‘flanking’ the enemy in a Choppa, only to jump out to his death instead, leaving his teammates alone to fend for themselves. With the girls clearly confused, the one remaining in the circle simply walked into the storm to her immediate elimination, as Tfue was in hysterics. Once the girls realized who they were in a lobby with, one even tried to shout out her own personal stream in front of Tfue’s thousands of viewers. As she was trying to plug her channel, Tfue can be seen physically cringing on stream, mocking his new teammates without them having any idea. It looks like using the E-Girl site is Tfue’s newest stream activity, and his fans are clearly loving it. Although the former pro player has criticized Fortnite generally, this might be a good way for him to keep enjoying playing and streaming the game. He’s thinking of leaving Florida altogether because of Fortnite though, because of issues with connection and ping, due to server locations.

Tfue teases Fortnite return ahead of Chapter 3 launch – Dexerto
Tfue teases Fortnite return ahead of Chapter 3 launch IG: Tfue / Epic GamesTurner ‘Tfue’ Tenney, Twitch streamer and former Fortnite professional, has teased a return to Epic Games’ building battle royale in the very near future after an extended break. Alongside the likes of Ninja and NICKMERCS, Tfue was a Twitch streamer who saw his popularity explode as Fortnite captivated millions of players across the world. Tenney’s humorous commentary, paired with his incredible gameplay, saw thousands of fans flock to his streams on a daily basis. As has been the case with many of Fortnite’s biggest content creators, he moved away from the game late in Chapter One and Chapter Two has seldom done enough to entice him back, at least not consistently. However, that could be set to change, after the former FaZe Clan star teased a return to the battle royale in late November. “Should I return to Fortnite for ‘THE END’?” he asked in a tweet. Naturally, the responses were full of fans and fellow content creators encouraging Tfue to return to the title that made his name on Twitch. Details about Fortnite’s ‘The End’ are scarce, with it gearing up to me the mammoth, world-shaking event that Fortnite fans have come to expect from Epic Games at the end of seasons. While Chapter 1 had 10 seasons, The End comes at the finale of Chapter Two’s eighth season, with all signs pointing to a third chapter for the acclaimed BR. Should I return to Fortnite for “THE END”? pic.twitter.com/OhMOFPWWmT — Tfue (@Tfue) November 24, 2021 It’s not the first time the former World Cup competitor has teased a return to Fortnite. Back in September, he claimed he would only return to the battle royale if they brought back the Grotto POI. If he does make a comeback for Chapter 2, Season 8’s finale, it would certainly take a lot to get him hooked on Fortnite like he once was.

Tfue explains why Tilted Towers should be removed from Fortnite – Dexerto
Tfue explains why Tilted Towers should be removed from Fortnite Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney has claimed that Fortnite would be much better if Tilted Towers was removed from the game, after being eliminated in one of the buildings. The popular Twitch streamer, who has accumulated the most prize money from the game’s competitive tournaments to date, has enjoyed many Victory Royales at the destination in the past. However, despite it being one of the locations that some fans would like to see protected from the earthquake in Fortnite, Tfue explains that the game would be better off without Tilted Towers. After being caught by a player’s trap at Tilted, the professional player gave us a piece of his mind in regards to the popular location. “When Tilted [Towers] first came out it was fun,” he explained. “But, now it’s trash. The only reason I fucking land there is because it’s the only place people land. I hate Tilted Towers.” Tfue also said that there aren’t enough counters for traps in fights that take place in buildings, hence his hatred for Tilted Towers. (You can see Tfue’s play, elimination and discussion for the first two minutes of this video) “Do you know how to shoot or do you guys just fucking pull out traps and look at the ground?” he said, after being killed at Tilted. “There’s no good counter. You can’t counter that. That’s why I hate Tilted Towers bro, I hate fighting inside buildings. It gives shit players way too many opportunities to kill you.” Read More: Fortnite v7.40 Content Update: Driftboard, Infantry Rifle and new LTM’s – Patch Notes for February 19 – Whether or not anything will materialize from Tfue’s criticism of the location remains to be seen. However, from what we’ve seen in the past – when professional players crowd around an issue – they have been known to force the developer’s hand once or twice, most recently with a nerf to the Hand Cannon. Will Spike Traps or Tilted Towers be the next to go?

Tfue teases Fortnite return after huge Season 5 update – Dexerto
Tfue teases Fortnite return after huge Season 5 update Epic GamesFortnite Battle Royale’s Season 5 update might well have tempted Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney into returning to the battle royale, after the creator dropped a big teaser on social media. Epic Games rolled out a bumper new patch on December 2, following the huge Galactus event to seal the end for Season 4. Since that time, we have discovered major changes in the game — including new online quests to replace challenges, Mythic Items, and a new currency called Gold Bars. With the majority of the community excited about those changes, things might be about to get ever better — as Tfue has hinted at an incoming stream on the game. You know what that means… It could finally sneak back onto his daily Twitch schedule — or not! Tfue Fortnite stream? On December 2, the former Fortnite esports star — who even competed in the World Cup — has set out the terms fans need to follow to get him back playing. It’s quite simple, too. He tweeted: “Use code “Tfue” and I’ll stream Fortnite tomorrow.” Whether or not the player will be looking to stream it for hours on end, or just a brief period of time, remains to be seen. One thing is for sure, though, the new patch certainly is jam-packed with new content to work through. In October, the streamer revealed two years was too much for him to stick to one game. He said: “Two years of cranking 90s was just too much. I had to spice it up and play other things. Plus, I felt like I milked the game so much that, like, me playing it was almost digging myself into a pit.” Fortnite’s latest update is very much up and running now though, with a number of further changes are expected. New loot bosses are expected to drop alongside The Mandalorian at different locations throughout the season, which will keep the majority of people occupied. Will Tfue be part of that? We’ll have to wait and see.

Tfue & Symfuhny highlight Fortnite’s big advantage vs Warzone after going back – Dexerto
Tfue & Symfuhny highlight Fortnite’s big advantage vs Warzone after going back Epic Games, TFUE, SymfuhnyFollowing the trend of big-time streamers returning to Fortnite, Tfue and Symfuhny recently paired up together to rekindle an old flame with Fortnite Chapter 3. If you’re only familiar with Tfue and Symfuhny from the last year or so, then you probably won’t even know that they rose to prominence via Fortnite in their early days. Tfue was one of the scene’s biggest stars, and Symfuhny’s building and editing skills were legendary! However, over time they drifted away from the game with Tfue mainly enjoying Apex as of late, whereas Symfuhny has predominantly transitioned to the Call of Duty: Warzone scene. But as seen with Dr Disrespect, NICKMERCS, TimTheTatMan, xQc, and countless other streamers and personalities, Tfue and Symfuhny have, maybe only temporarily, gravitated towards Fortnite and its hot Chapter 3 content. Fortnite Chapter 3 lures back Tfue & Symfuhny Whether it’s because of Klombo, the potential “no-build mode,” or the return of the infamous Tilted Towers, Season 3 has an unmistakable allure that is drawing players in. So it was cool to see Tfue and Symfuhny recently revisit Epic’s battle royale shooter. “How do I even invite some bro?” a confused Tfue asked as it had clearly been a long time since he had played the game. Fortnite has undergone a ridiculous number of changes and alterations since the duo last played, and despite this, Tfue insisted that they drop into the classic Tilted Towers POI they both knew. “I can’t believe we’re on Fortnite dude,” Symfuhny said, before they were both knee-deep in frantic battles with other players. They each picked up on aspects of the game they enjoyed with Tfue asking “is it just me or is the FOV in this game amazing?” and Symfuhny agreeing. This is quite a statement given how big the FOV argument is in shooters nowadays, with Warzone players, in particular, desperate for console FOV options. They also noted that the Shield Keg is “sick.” After a few decent games and refamiliarizing themselves with the game’s mechanics and new elements, the pair eventually found their mojo and scored a Victory Royale after clutching up in some perilous situations. Read More: How to get free V-Bucks in Fortnite – The gameplay will have hit some proper nostalgia vibes for fans of the streamer’s Fortnite days. Though, it’s unclear whether this will see a permanent return to Fortnite for the pair. Tfue previously commented in 2019 about Fortnite and Apex saying: “That’s why a lot of the streamers switched to f**king Apex, just because of the stream-snipers,” he said. “I mean that’s the only reason I would play Apex. Just because of the large population, you can avoid stream-snipers.”

Tfue takes cheeky shot at Cloak over Fortnite World Cup qualifying failures – Dexerto
Tfue takes cheeky shot at Cloak over Fortnite World Cup qualifying failures FaZe ClanTurner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney and Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lapore are still attempting to qualify for the Fortnite World Cup, and Tfue has hilariously placed the blame on his duo partner after Cloak failed to answer his calls and texts. Friday, June 21 is the final day of Fortnite World Cup qualifiers, with duos attempting to secure one of the remaining spots in the $30 million tournament. Tfue has already qualified for the tournament and will compete in the solos tournament, and with the pair yet to make it together, Tfue sarcastically blamed his friend and partner for their unsuccessful qualifying campaign. While playing with Tom ‘72hrs’ Mulligan, the pair found themselves without their duos, with the Team Liquid player saying that Noah ‘Vivid’ Wright had gone out for dinner, despite him “begging” Vivid to stay in and scrim. Like a scorned teenager upset that their crush isn’t texting them back, Tfue joked that he didn’t know where Cloak was because he wasnt replying to his calls or messages: “I don’t even know! Where even is Dennis dude? He didn’t reply to any of my calls. This guy wants to qualify for the World Cup and he doesn’t even play Fortnite, shows what kind of friend he is, dude. He hasn’t replied to my texts all day” Tfue later found out that Cloak had accidentally leaked his number on stream, and had changed his number, but that didn’t appear to be a good enough reason to skip practice, at least not according to the Californian. “How did you leak your fucking name on stream?” asked a bemused Tfue. “Who’s got the clip? He’s going to try to say that’s the reason he didn’t reply, but I’m pretty sure I fucking DMed him on Twitter, so where’s his excuse now?” “Cloak doesn’t even play Fortnite anymore, I just need Cloak to actually practice. I practice all day every day, that’s why I qualified!” Of course, Tfue and Cloak are actually good friends, with the pair even spending some time living together in New York City, so his comments were very tongue-in-cheek as they head into the Week 10 Finals. Only four teams from North America will qualify from the last week of events, so both Tfue and Cloak will have to be on top form if they hope to compete in the World Cup Finals in July.

Tfue suffers worst luck ever with Fortnite traps – Dexerto
Tfue suffers worst luck ever with Fortnite traps Popular Fortnite professional Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney was left stunned after being eliminated, not once, but twice by traps – before a bizarre pause finished off another match. When it comes to Fortnite on Twitch, there is perhaps no bigger name than Tfue. The popular pro player has over 7.2 million followers on the platform, with upwards of 30,000 tuning in on a daily basis. With no LAN events to set his sights on, Tenney has been competing in the weekly online FNCS sessions alongside longtime teammate Dennis ‘Cloak‘ Lepore, Fiber, and Khanada. Before he jumps in with his squad, though, he takes in some ‘high kills’ solo matches to warm-up – but they don’t always work out that way. During his November 11 stream, Tfue had been warming up as normal when he jumped into a close-quarters one-on-one fight. Read More: Where is Fortnite’s v11.11 update? – As he usually does, the Fortnite pro got the best of his enemy, gunning them down with his shotgun, before making a mistake and dropping in front of a wall trap. While his chat laughed, Tfue jokingly covered his camera and told them to “don’t look,” before heading for the exit. Yet, he didn’t have much luck in his other games either, as again, he fell to a trap near Frenzy Farm. This time though, it wasn’t exactly a mistake, but more of a hilarious piece of timing. Tfue had his eyes set on an enemy who stole one of his eliminations and promised to hunt them down. As he tried, however, he jumped off the roof and was taken out by a roof trap – leaving him red in the face. His bad luck in the solos matches was compounded in another moment. This time, it appeared to be a glitch that stopped him in his tracks. Again, Tfue was locked in a one-on-one fight when his enemy took the high ground and tried to gun his down. As he looked up, the streamer’s screen was filled with the pause menu, prompting him to freeze. “What the f*ck!” the American called out, but it was too late, as he’d already been taken down by his foe. Now, of course, everyone can have an off-day in a battle royale like Fortnite – that’s the way RNG [random number generator] works. Tfue, though, will probably bounce back with a spectacular 30 kill solo win on his next stream because, well, that’s how he rolls.

Tfue stunned as frustrating Fortnite glitches ruin his match – Dexerto
Tfue stunned as frustrating Fortnite glitches ruin his match Tfue / Epic GamesPopular Twitch streamer Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney uncovered game-breaking Fortnite bugs that left him and many of his viewers stunned during his April 30 broadcast. As with any multiplayer titles, Fortnite has had many glitches since its release in 2017 that can potentially alter the course of the game. While most of the bugs found in the popular battle royale are often minor, popular streamer Tfue found himself stuck in one the most bizarre glitches yet while livestreaming on April 30. Tfue was playing alongside teammate Scoped during the weekly Contender Cup and encountered an unfortunate glitch that left him stuck in place shortly after dropping in. While he is known for landing at The Grotto in his competitive Fortnite matches, Tfue was stunned after he accidentally dropped to his death from the large pylon while everyone was racing for weapons. Scoped managed to revive him quickly, however, after standing up, Tfue found that he was trapped in a bizarre glitch that prevented him from moving, although he could still aim and shoot, even picking up a kill on one of his fellow competitors from the static position. With no way to make it to the next circle, Tfue’s teammate Scoped managed to pull Tfue off the top to the ground, causing him to die from fall damage in the hoping that grabbing his teammate’s reboot card and bringing him back again would fix the popular streamer’s issues. Unfortunately for Tfue, that was not the case and although he could move when he was respawned, he was now unable to run, jump or pick up any weapons on the floor, leaving him frustrated with the chain of unusual bugs. “Wait I can’t run bro, I’m not even kidding it won’t let me, can we even play this out?” a frustrated Tfue asked. “It won’t let me pick up anything.” Tfue died in-game a little later and left Scoped to his own devices while he left to reset his game and fix any bugs ahead of his other scheduled matches. Despite the frustrating glitches, the pair managed to finish in fourth place during that stage of the tournament, netting 330 points in total for their efforts. This is not the first time that Tfue’s tournament hopes have been interrupted by a bug, as one of his teammates had died to a bizarre fall glitch, only a day prior, during the April 29 Duos cup.

Tfue left stunned by stream snipers during solo Fortnite tournament – Dexerto
Tfue left stunned by stream snipers during solo Fortnite tournament Popular Fortnite streamer and professional player Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney has been left in disbelief by multiple stream snipers targeting him during the Solo Platform Cash Cup. The Cash Cup gives out around $10,000 each week, in each region, which may seem measly in comparison to the hundreds of millions given out in prize money over the last 18 months, but is still not bad for a day’s work, and enough to justify being angry at stream snipers. Stream snipers have been a constant issue for many content creators in recent years, which is bad enough as is, but it definitely crosses a line when people are stream sniping players actively competing in tournaments. During his seventh game of the tournament, sitting at just 28 points, Tfue was challenged on the coast of Slurpy Swamp on the south-west side of the map. He had high-ground on a player that was clearly looking for the elimination and after some defensive play, he charged at his enemy. “I play these fights tedious, you want to know why, chat? Because these kids are f*cking stream snipers bro.” Timestamp 2:32 for mobile users Whilst in the midst of a fight with the original stream sniper, Tfue ends up getting attacked by a third-party, sniped and eliminated whilst trying to heal up. All he can do is hold his head in his hands as he backs out and into the lobby. After a long sigh, he explained: “I am literally at the edge of the f*cking map in a swamp where there is no loot and I’m getting rotated on by multiple people… I don’t get it. I just don’t even know.” Tfue ended up making no gains on his 28 points and placing 2794th – a ranking far below his and his fan’s expectations. No doubt this was made even more difficult by being stream sniped throughout. Unfortunately, such is the effect of having fame in the way Tfue does. Whether he is right or wrong, stream snipers have been around for as long as streaming has, and Fortnite’s popularity has just heightened the issue as more and more players want to face off with their favorite streamers.

Tfue stunned after bizarre Fortnite boat glitch instantly kills him – Dexerto
Tfue stunned after bizarre Fortnite boat glitch instantly kills him Twitch: Tfue / Epic GamesFortnite star Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney was absolutely stunned after being instantly killed thanks to a strange bug with the in-game boats. Fortnite features a massive amount of varied content, with Epic Games adding a ton of new stuff with every update, from weapons and mobility to map updates and cosmetics. One of the newest features are boats, which were added with Chapter 2. These vehicles help players get around quickly on both water and land, but Tfue discovered they can be very dangerous, too, as he was eliminated due to a weird bug. During a usual Fortnite stream on Feb 13, the former FaZe member was charging at his opponents in a boat while destroying their buildings but was suddenly stopped and instantly eliminated – despite not being shot by any of the enemy players. Tfue drove right into someone’s building as they placed down some stairs on top of him resulting in an instant “you have eliminated yourself” message, leaving the streamer sat staring at his screen, completely speechless. His teammate Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff seemed equally confused as he was still battling, before realizing that Tfue had somehow been eliminated and asking “are you dead? Oh, you’re dead.” It’s not quite clear what happened, but fans are speculating that it has something to do with the fact that Turner drove so close to someone as they were building, resulting in him being ‘crushed’ and eliminated. If that’s the case, then it’s quite an unfortunate moment and fairly impactful bug, as it changes how aggressive players can be with boats and forces people to be incredibly careful around buildings. Epic Games have yet to comment on the matter, but will surely be looking to find out why this is occurring and fix it as quickly as possible.

Tfue left speechless after rare Fortnite bug denies Victory Royale – Dexerto
Tfue left speechless after rare Fortnite bug denies Victory Royale Epic Games/Twitch: TfueFortnite star Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney was left stunned by an unusual bug that caused him to fall to his death even though he had seemingly lined up his fall perfectly. While he may not have succeeded at the Fortnite World Cup, Tfue is still the most recognizable name in the game and he even looks set to become the face of Twitch itself. That World Cup setback hasn’t stopped him for playing the battle royale, rather, it’s seemingly pushed him to play even more. He has had a few issues with Fortnite Season 10, however, threatening to uninstall the game and launching a tirade at Epic Games over the BRUTE Mech suits. Yet, for now at least, he’s still playing Fortnite – that is, however, subject to change, especially if he sticks around after running into a rather strange bug. Tfue has never been one to shy away from his criticism of Epic Games. During his August 5 stream, Tfue had been playing alongside his longtime duo partner Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore and 100 Thieves’ Davis ‘Ceice‘ McClellan when they became engaged in a frantic late-game battle in a moving circle. As they usually do, Tfue and Cloak sought out to take the high-ground – giving themselves an advantage over their opponents. However, things didn’t go to plan. Tenney altered the construction of his floor to give him the perfect drop point onto a bounce pad. Yet, as he dropped down, the brick floor quickly changed and knocked him off course. He could only offer up a confused “Dude, what?” before rolling back from his camera and not saying anything else for a few moments. “What the f*ck was that?” he added, before getting behind his teammate’s bid for a win. While the bug may have annoyed other players to the point where they storm off-stream and don’t return, Tfue soldiered on for a few more hours of trios action. Read More: Fortnite v10.00 early patch notes – It’s unknown if the bug, which seems pretty difficult to replicate and relies on back luck, is on Epic Games’ radar and if some sort of fix is in place from the developers. Of course, it’s probably just too late for the v10.00 content update, which is set to add a brand new sniper and possibly new points of interest. Tfue, as well as the majority of the player base, will also be hoping it includes a nerf to the Mech suits, which have caused serious controversy since being added, deemed far too overpowered.

Tfue struggles mightily at Fortnite World Cup despite the hype – Dexerto
Tfue struggles mightily at Fortnite World Cup despite the hype Dexerto / ShacknewsSuperstar Fortnite pro Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney did not live up to expectations in the Solos tournament at the $30 million Fortnite World Cup, putting in a sub-par performance. Coming into the $15 million Fortnite World Cup Solos tournament on July 28, the general consensus was that Tfue would show up big-time, with some even predicting that he would finish in the top-10. His status as a global Fortnite icon aside, the former FaZe Clan member had arguably the most winning experience on LAN than any of his fellow competitors, having placed first at TwitchCon’s Fall Skirmish Duos event with Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lapore last fall. Unfortunately, things didn’t pan out exactly as predicted, as the iconic player was actually pretty below average, especially considering the standard that he and everyone else in the competitive community had set for him. He finished the competition in 67th place, out of 100 total players, with just seven points to his name, four of which were from eliminations and the other three from placement. The first three matches were the toughest of the bunch of Tfue, as he came in 79th, 63rd, and 65th respectively, amassing just one elimination over that span. In the third match, he was eliminated after an uncharacteristically poor decision to glide down to the middle of the zone with 65 players still remaining, opening himself up to get shot mid-flight and get eliminated as soon as he landed. Things picked up for him in the second half of the tournament; he finished 22nd in the fourth match, earning three placement points for his efforts. Following another dud in the fifth match, he went into the sixth and final game knowing that he needed to play a lot more aggressive to secure as many points possible. That he did, getting three eliminations to finish among the leaders in the lobby, but got taken out just outside of the top-25, failing to get any placement points. Following the conclusion of the event, Tfue did not have much to say on Twitter, just tweeting out “GGs Only,” as well as congratulating Sentinels pro Kyle ‘Bugha’ Giersdorf, who finished in first place and took home the $3 million grand prize. Not to mention the fact that qualifying for the World Cup finals was a very commendable feat of its own, considering how many of his fellow superstar pro players and content creators failed to match the achievement. If anything, this performance will likely only drive him harder to succeed and improve his gameplay, and there’s no doubt he will do everything he can to be back next year to try and redeem himself.

Tfue slams TSM pro Commandment for apparently stream sniping him and Cloak – Dexerto
Tfue slams TSM pro Commandment for apparently stream sniping him and Cloak TeamSoloMid / TfueFortnite Battle Royale star, Turney ‘Tfue’ Tenney slammed young Team SoloMid pro player, Commandment, after a very suspicious engagement. Tfue’s popularity as one of the best known Twitch streamers often leads to him being stream sniped by his viewers, so that they can test themselves against the pro or show off for the stream. However, during more competitive matches, it is less likely for Tfue to be targeted by stream snipers, as the lobbies mostly consist of pro players. While Tfue was watching back one of his competitive matches, he noticed how far away TSM Commandment was from him, before using his Rift-To-Go to push away from the next safe zone, and instead challenge Tfue and Cloakzy while they had low health after a battle in the storm. Commandment then came under fire by Tfue as he began questioning the TSM member’s decision making, saying, “He rifts into the fucking storm and comes to fight us, what the fuck is he doing?” When looking at the map in replay mode, Tfue displayed how ridiculous the play was by TSM Commandment, highlighting just how far away the safe zone was from them at that point. Many of Tfue’s viewers began to assume that TSM Commandment may have been watching Tfue’s stream and aware of the fact he and Cloak had low health, as it would seem to make no sense to challenge the pair 1v2 otherwise. However, other viewers chalked it up to sheer confidence that the 14-year-old TSM pro player has gathered, while competing. Tfue makes no direct accusation, although his suspicions are clear, as stream sniping is a serious issue, especially for a professional player. Epic Games have shown a willingness to ban players found guilty in the past, and Twitch too will take action against streamers who do so.

Tfue slams “immature” Fortnite community for stream sniping – Dexerto
Tfue slams “immature” Fortnite community for stream sniping Epic Games/TfuePopular Twitch streamer and Fortnite pro Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney has lashed out at the game’s “immature” community, arguing it leads to stream-sniping. Despite being the most popular Fortnite Twitch streamer in the world, Tfue has been known to regularly criticize the game for its shortcomings, even leading to friction with other content creators, like Ninja. One of the game’s more frustrating aspects he has been most vocal about is stream-sniping, when in-game opponents target a streamer, using their broadcast to hunt them down and pinpoint their location. “Loser-ass b*tches? Yeah dude,” he said, during his May 6 live stream. “The Fortnite community is f**king garbage, it’s filled with a bunch of f**king immature 12-year-old stream-sniping pieces of sh*t.” A number of the ongoing FNCS events have been shrouded in controversy. We’ve seen some high-profile players banned for teaming, and a number of Fortnite’s biggest content creators – including Tfue – accusing others of stream-sniping them. “They have nothing going for them in life,” he finished. “So all they do is just f**king cheat.” While he didn’t call anyone out in particular, it’s hard to imagine Tfue’s words were not in some way related to the recent ban of FaZe Clan’s Dubs, who received a 30-day ban for cheating in the Solos Cash Cup. He has since defended himself and reiterated his innocence. Fortnite has a number of its most prominent players under the age of 18, such as Kyle ‘Bugha’ Giersdorf, the Fortnite World Cup winner, was just 16 years old when he won $3 million. This often means the community around the game can be viewed as “childish,” although it remains one of the world’s most popular games regardless of age group. While many celebrate how impactful young people are in the world of Fortnite, Tfue clearly believes it has led to a number of issues in Epic Games’ community.

Tfue slams infamous Fortnite cheater XXiF for targeting him in-game – Dexerto
Tfue slams infamous Fortnite cheater XXiF for targeting him in-game Epic Games/TfuePopular Fortnite streamer and pro player Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney was not happy after fellow pro and once-cheater XXiF landed on him in a competitive match. XXiF is a well-known name in the Fortnite community, but for all the wrong reasons. He was accused of cheating while trying to qualify for the World Cup, through deliberate collaboration or ‘teaming’ with other players. He was eventually found guilty, dropped by Rise Nation and handed a two-week ban by Epic Games. Despite this, he still qualified for the World Cup and was allowed to compete at the event, but failed to make a significant impact in New York. Tfue recently lashed out at XXiF after he was “landed on” by his fellow Fortnite professional. Landing on the meteor which lingers over the map, Tfue quickly found a tac shotgun. Hearing an opponent landing on the ridge above him, he utilized the low gravity zone to reposition and swiftly eliminate XXiF. Upon realizing who it was, however, Tfue had a few choice words for his opponent. “Why is this kid landing on me?” he asked. “XXiF just landed on me and died. What is he doing, what are these fucking players doing?” A friend then jokes to Tfue that he’s about to get a two-week ban, referencing XXiF’s past discrepancies. “I know right,” responded Tfue. “This kid’s feeding me, it’s crazy.” (Timestamp: 0:50) However, it wasn’t just Tfue who had a problem with XXiF. Popular streamer for FaZe Clan, Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff, also called out XXiF for targeting him during a game of Fortnite. Trapped in his own builds with no materials, Nick was quickly eliminated by an enemy. When he realized it was XXiF, he too had some pretty strong words for the Riot Squad player. “Oh it’s our favorite Fortnite player,” joked Kolcheff. “That’s weird that him and a bunch of other players started to shoot me because I could have sworn this guy’s got a reputation of doing that.” (Timestamp 1:20) While obviously not confirmed that XXiF was doing anything he wasn’t allowed to, it’s clear that a lot of the Fortnite community still do not take well to being eliminated by someone known to have tried to flout the rules in the past. This was clear back at the Fortnite World Cup in July, as the crowd erupted upon witnessing XXiF being eliminated. Tfue recently announced a surprise break from Twitch streaming, explaining that he “feels trapped”. NICKMERCS is taking no such break, and can be found regularly streaming for FaZe Clan over at his Twitch channel.

Tfue slams Fortnite duo amid FNCS “doxxing” drama – Dexerto
Tfue slams Fortnite duo amid FNCS “doxxing” drama Epic Games / Twitch: TfueTurner ‘Tfue’ Tenney has defended himself after a Fortnite duo claimed the streamer “doxxed” them for dropping in the same spot during this week’s Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) action, calling them “idiots.” Tfue’s performance in FNCS Duos Week 4 was a far cry to some of his earlier performances, including a third place in Week 3. However, the former FaZe Clan star made the top 5 alongside duo ‘Scoped’, placing 14th in the final week of action. However, his run has been marred with controversy, with a fellow FNCS duo claiming the streamer and his community “doxxed” them for dropping in the same spot during the tournament. ‘OopsRekt’, ‘StarvingAiden’, and their organization Starving Hustlers called out the Twitch star for sending “unnecessary hate” to their players after both teams dropped Grotto throughout FNCS finals. The organization also claimed the streamer’s community disclosed private details of their players, commonly known as “doxxing.” However, Tfue disagreed. He denied all allegations, and went to clear the record on April 13. He criticized the way the players played, saying that it doesn’t matter how long someone has been dropping somewhere — if they wanted to win, they should have moved. “Wow, they’ve been landing there for way longer than us dude,” he said. “We just started landing there — they’ve been landing there since I was in the f**king womb. They’ve probably got so much experience in the Grotto. “Oh sh*t, they got zero kills in six games, and we just started landing there? But they’ve been landing there bro!” https://twitter.com/Starving_Gaming/status/1249558350825750528 He gave the players an ultimatum – move out of his drop zone, or keep dying. It didn’t matter who they are, because Tfue was going to show up, and they should have had the foresight to move drop locations after the first couple of losses. “Who is this guy bro? Shut the f**k up. I don’t give a f**k how long anyone has been landing anywhere. If I show up at any POI and I sh*t on you, get out, or else you’re gonna do bad — which is what they did. They got dead last place. “If I got sh*t on five games in a row, what the f**k in your brain will make you think ‘hey, maybe the sixth time we can go back and it’ll be different’? No, you f**king idiot. Learn how to play the goddamn game. “What the f**k does landing anywhere have to do with anything? You suck. Go land somewhere else — or don’t, and die some more. They could have landed anywhere on the goddamn map and got maybe one point.” He also rebutted the doxxing claims, saying he doesn’t have control over his entire community, and that when players mess with Tfue, some of his community are going to take it personally. “I have 100,000 viewers on Twitch, and you’re landing on us trying to ruin our tournament,” he said. “You think I’m in control of 100,000 people? What am I, God? When you are doing dumbass sh*t to me, you are also doing dumbass sh*t to 100,000 people witnessing it. “People getting doxxed and sh*t? Like that doesn’t happen to me at all? Like SWAT teams haven’t showed up to my parent’s house with AR-15s pointed at them? People on the internet are crazy.” The FNCS is going on break as the race to finals kicks off in the coming weeks. Tfue has qualified for the Season Finals, and will be trying to reclaim his spot at the top of competitive Fortnite.

Tfue shows off the strength of aim assist in first ever Fortnite controller stream – Dexerto
Tfue shows off the strength of aim assist in first ever Fortnite controller stream TfueFortnite streamer Turner ‘Fortnite with a controller for the first time on stream. There’s a never ending debate between console and PC gamers about whether or not using a mouse is really more accurate than a controller. Without taking either side it remains a fact that console games typically come with aim assist, while PC doesn’t. As Tfue tried out Fortnite with a controller for the first time, he discovered how powerful Fortnite’s aim assist really is live on stream. Is that an Aimbot? As Tfue warmed up on the sticks with FaZe sway before jumping into the Battle Bus, he decided to test out how Fortnite’s aim assist really worked. With sway running away from him Tfue aimed his crosshairs and followed him using nothing more than the game’s aim assist for controllers. “I’m following you dude,” Tfue told sway while the pair were getting used to controllers. “Yeah im follwing you bro” So it seems like aim assist is powerful enough to follow a player as they move along the map, at least in Fortnite, but whether it provides an advantage over players who choose to use mouse and keyboard instead is still up for debate. Did Tfue stick with the controller? After using his controller for awhile, Tfue eventually switched back to mouse and keyboard during the stream and joked “aiming with a mouse is dog dude, too hard man.” The streamer has said before that, due to his low sensitivity, he’d consider switching to controller, but it might just take some time to get used to. Whether Tfue stays with mouse and keyboard or makes the switch to the sticks remains to be seen, but maybe he just needs a little more practice before making the change for good.

Tfue shows off simple trick to find loot llamas in Fortnite Chapter 2 – Dexerto
Tfue shows off simple trick to find loot llamas in Fortnite Chapter 2 Fortnite Chapter 2 finally launched on October 15 as Epic Games overhauled the classic battle royale map and gave fans a brand-new landscape to explore. Aside from the new map, a raft of cosmetics, and some changes to the game’s mechanics, the developers opted to change the loot pool. A ton of weapons and mobility items have been removed, giving Epic a chance to breathe new life into the game. With the smaller loot pool, however, some items are increasingly harder to find – including the loot llamas, which have been spotted on the side of hills, amid trees, and other hard to reach places. Yet, these are usually limited to one or two per match, so it’s pretty rare to see any more. Despite that though, during his October 25 stream, Tfue was able to nonchalantly pick out three during a drop in to a match. As he warmed up prior to playing alongside his new-look Fortnite Championship Series squad, the popular Twitch streamer didn’t opt for a hot drop or even a brisk glide down. Instead, he stayed as high in the air as possible and begun pinging random spots. Can’t see the clip below on mobile? Click here He was able to uncover two llamas quickly around the Slupry Swamp area while his viewers watched on, stunned at how easy it was, before he was able to uncover yet another in the distance. The Fortnite professional has had a knack for uncovering these hard-to-find llamas from insane distances, including finding a handful from the spawn island during previous seasons. Back then, though, llamas were seemingly far more common than they are now, and other professionals had started pulling out similar tricks before games. They may become even harder to find as Chapter 2 unfolds and more items are added to the battle royale, but that’s a decision for Epic.

Tfue shows how to dominate in Fortnite without building – Dexerto
Tfue shows how to dominate in Fortnite without building Twitch: Tfue / Epic GamesTurner ‘Fortnite players in the world, and his skills were on show for the world to see when he destroyed two enemies without using one of the game’s main mechanics in building. When Fortnite released back in September 2017, one of the things that set it apart from other battle royale titles was the ability to build structures for protection, and since then the mechanic has become a crucial part of any player’s arsenal. If you’re Tfue though, it seems like you don’t need to worry so much about it, as he proved during his August 7 stream by destroying two opponents without building a single structure. For many, building is a staple part of their offence on Fortnite, quickly creating towers and structures to try and gain a height advantage over their opponents, thus making it easier to kill them, and much simpler to defend any attacks that come in response. When confronted with an enemy, the 21-year-old instead decided to show off his amazing gunskill, keeping his feet on the ground as he slashed his way through the opponent’s build, dealing damage with his Burst SMG before delivering a death blow using his harvesting tool. A second victim then appeared on the scene, building a huge tower into the sky only for Tfue to pick him off with three quick bursts to the head to clean up both kills without placing a single structure. Despite his disappointing performance at the Fortnite World Cup, Tfue still stands as one of the most recognizable pro players in the world, and he showed why he’s placed so highly at tournaments in the past with this perfect display of decision-making and gunskill.

Tfue shocked after strange Fortnite camera angles lead to quick death – Dexerto
Tfue shocked after strange Fortnite camera angles lead to quick death Fortnite superstar Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney was stunned after his Winter Royale 2019 duos tournament match came to a swift end due to the game’s wonky camera angles that didn’t let the streamer see much of the action. Fortnite’s third-person camera has long been a point of contention with the community. Issues with editing and shooting have been linked to the game’s strange camera angles when a player finds themselves in the middle of a fast-paced battle. While players have since learned to compensate for the POV with great success, they still run into instances where it seems like the game is working against them. During a recent stream, Tfue was in the final stages of a Winter Royale match with less than 10 players remaining. Players know that this phase is where battles can quickly turn from long-range affairs to close-quarter action as the Storm closes in. The Fortnite star was trying to defend against a player who was pressing from behind them. But things got weird since the streamer was perched between a wall build and the underside of a staircase. “I have the worst camera angle bro,” Tfue said. “What is my screen. That’s actually so AIDS bro. You have no clue what I’m looking at.” Since the enemy had a high-ground advantage with a relatively clear environment, they were able to land successive shots on the streamer. Tfue, however, was working against the game’s camera since at one point half of his screen was filled with brown bricks of the staircase behind him. The unfortunate positioning made it difficult to land meaningful shots on his opponent, especially since he was tussling between getting vision on the fight and lining up an angle on the player. After the dust settled, Tfue and his duo got fourth place in that match, but it left some wondering if they could have etched out a better placing if not for the camera issues. In either case, Fortnite’s camera work is decent for the most part but can cause frustration when the fights start to heat up. Since a lot can happen in a short amount of time in Epic’s battle royale title, it would be interesting how the developers would approach a fix to this particular problem.

Tfue shows how insanely powerful grenades are in Fortnite Chapter 2 – Dexerto
Tfue shows how insanely powerful grenades are in Fortnite Chapter 2 Fortnite star Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney has demonstrated how perfecting the use of grenades in competitive can give players a huge leg up on their opponents – while leaving his Twitch fans wowed in the process. With the start of Fortnite Chapter 2, Epic Games did away with a huge portion of the game’s old loot pool – limiting it to a few weapons and health items, while also introducing new looting mechanics like fishing and rarer chests. A number of classic weapons remained, as did the grey grenades that had been so prominent throughout the game’s first chapter. While they weren’t a huge part of the meta back then – regularly being swapped out for other items by players – they’ve become a mainstay for people’s loadouts in Chapter 2. They’ve also shifted the meta in competitive play, with teams doing their very best to carry stacks in order to assault other teams with explosives – even though Epic has lowered the max stack from 10 to six. That didn’t matter for Tfue, however, as he was able to make the six grenades count to his advantage while taking on other highly-skilled players. Read More: Fortnite x Star Wars collaboration revealed – During his November 14 stream, the Fortnite star demonstrated the effectiveness of top-level grenade placement by marking out where he wanted to aim and giving himself a higher platform. From there, Tfue launched all six grenades, taking down two dueling enemies with a few blasts and destroying any protection they had built. Now, adapting to the max grenade stack nerf is another accomplishment of sorts that he’s been able to tick off during Chapter 2, Season 1 – alongside finding three loot llamas before starting a match. Of course, Epic Games use players like Tfue to monitor what needs balancing and what doesn’t, so there could be even more nerfs to grenades in the future if the developers update their Trello board.

Tfue shares grave prediction for future of Fortnite as Apex Legends’ popularity surges – Dexerto
Tfue shares grave prediction for future of Fortnite as Apex Legends’ popularity surges Tfue / Epic GamesTurner ‘Tfue’ Tenney has echoed the thoughts of other streamers with his latest grave prediction for Fortnite’s future, following the rise in popularity of Apex Legends. The new battle royale game from Respawn Entertainment quickly became one of the most watched video games on Twitch following its surprise release on February 4 and is now competing with Epic Games’ title on all fronts. Despite insisting that Apex Legends is not the better of the two in the past, Tfue now claims that Fortnite’s success might not last much longer. “Apex Legends is going to kill Fortnite,” Tfue predicted, after seeing viewing statistics that showed over 700,000 people were watching it on Twitch, compared to Fortnite’s 90,000. The video below also shows another earlier prediction from the streamer, where he says: “This game is going to die so quickly. It’s actually depressing to think about. I give this game a year, probably, until it dies. Enjoy it while shit lasts.” (Tfue’s predictions can be seen in the first minute of this video below) Tfue insisted in the video that he has “never” been wrong about any of his Fortnite predictions, and he’s not alone in thinking the end is near for Epic’s game. Dr Disrespect has also claimed that people should be “embarrassed” to be associated with it. It’s unknown if Tenney will stick around on Fortnite for Season 8, but one thing is for sure – he doesn’t see a bright future on the horizon for the free-to-play title.

Tfue shares surprising opinion on console and mobile Fortnite players – Dexerto
Tfue shares surprising opinion on console and mobile Fortnite players The long standing saga about aim assist on console Fortnite Battle Royale has taken an unexpected turn thanks to FaZe Clan’s Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney. The popular pro player and streamer took to social media on February 5 to share an opinion that not many were expecting him to express so publicly. “I have nothing but great respect to console players and mobile players,” he tweeted. “That shit is hard.” Tfue, of course, is widely considered to be on of the best Fortnite players in the world, so for him to say something like this is a huge victory for the console and mobile players. Sure enough, the comments section under his tweet were full of controller and mobile players who were thanking him for giving them such an influential endorsement. I have nothing but great respect to console players and mobile players that shit is hard dawg — Tfue (@TTfue) February 5, 2019 The debate about aim assist for controller Fortnite players has been going on for almost as long as the game’s existed. While no one is really questioning the fact that aim assist is needed to making playing with a controller viable, many have expressed their concern and frustration about certain exploits, like the ‘ADS spam,’ that make aim assist too powerful. On one side of the debate are those that are petitioning for aim assist to be considerably nerfed and reduced, and on the other side are those who claim that it’s the only thing that allows them to stay relatively on par with mouse and keyboard players. Tfue himself has been at the center of these discussions before, recently appearing on a live-steam with Team SoloMid pro Myth and having a conversation about the effects of aim assist. They are not the only prominent names to have participated in this community-wide debate; popular streamer NICKMERCS, the most well-known controller player, has often found himself having to defend aim assist against the likes of Ninja and Dr Lupo, among others. It appears that this age-old debate has started to favor mouse and keyboard players as of late, as Epic Games have announced that a change is coming in the next major update that will mitigate the effect of certain aim assist exploits. Whether or not this will fundamentally change the balance of the player-base, we will just have to wait and see.

Tfue shares why he thinks building in Fortnite is currently “broken” – Dexerto
Tfue shares why he thinks building in Fortnite is currently “broken” Fortnite’s latest season brought a lot of changes to its current slate of weapons which FaZe Clan’s Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney thinks might have given certain building strategies an unfair advantage. After extensive changes to explosives, Rocket Launchers, mat placements, and more, some of the game’s defensive strategies are stifling the action typically seen in a game. During a recent livestream on Twitch, Tfue expressed some frustrations over the game’s lack of options to deal with the consistent 1×1 builds players are favoring instead of direct fights. Since Fortnite took away various tools to get into builds, some players are coming up short of preventing players from hiding in their 1×1’s. In fact, he believes that the problem might have reached a point to where the strategy has heavily skewed the meta. “I think this game has a serious issue with its metas right now,” Tfue said. “Sitting in a box is honestly broken. When someone’s sitting in a 1×1, there’s only so much shit you can do.” (Timestamp at 0:12 for mobile viewers) The FaZe pro feels that Epic Games took away too many tools that used to prevent players from simply falling back and boxing themselves in. Tfue was lost for words for what to do in a game where there’s little leeway to maneuver once someone retreats to a 1×1. Read more: How to watch Fortnite’s $500,000 ESL Katowice Royale tournament – schedule, format, players, and more – “I think [Epic Games] taking out all the fucking [explosives] and all the fucking deagles and shit… I don’t know, the only fucking counters they had to people sitting in boxes, they took them out. So I don’t know,” Tfue said. Epic Games routinely mixes up their battle royal to keep the action fresh, and it seems that at least Tfue would welcome a change of pace to how things are at the moment.

FaZe Tfue reveals why he lets bad players win Fortnite games – Dexerto
FaZe Tfue reveals why he lets bad players win Fortnite games FaZe Clan’s Turner ‘Fortnite as he so pleases. However, he’s also happy to hand wins to unsuspecting opponents live on-stream – here’s why. The Fortnite pro, who recently lost his spot as the highest-earning professional player to Ghost Gaming’s Timothy ‘Bizzle’ Miller following the ESL Katowice Royale, has given players free wins over himself in the past. While his chat has tried to seek out an explanation, the FaZe Clan member has never given a straight answer. Now, that’s changed – and Tenney’s explanation is just about as laid back as you’d imagine. Streaming on March 4, Tfue spotted a player hiding in a bush with a default skin, before revealing that he was going to hand them the win. After dealing with a different enemy, the FaZe pro returned and offered himself up to the default skin as an easy kill. The player obliged and grabbed a free win. “I let this guy win dude because he’s a default bro – and defaults for life,” said Tfue before revealing his ‘Default’ lip tattoo to his viewers. A few moments later, after displaying the tattoo for all to see, Tfue added: “defaults for life, dude.” By ‘default’, Tfue was clearly referring to the in-game character known as Jonesy, one of the defaults skins in Fortnite, who he has been said to look like. Tfue also regularly uses the default skin in-game instead of the plethora of skins available to him. Tfue also, already, has a ‘Jonesy’ tattoo following some on-stream antics with FaZe Clan’s Ricky ‘Banks’ Banks back on February 16. While he’s not going to give away free wins in competitive play, letting less experienced players enjoy the thrill of a solo battle royale victory isn’t a bad move at all.

Tfue roasts controller players and servers with mock Fortnite advice – Dexerto
Tfue roasts controller players and servers with mock Fortnite advice Fortnite star Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney took some amusing shots at the game’s servers and controller aim assist after being asked for a few tips from a hopeful player. While it is still one of the top multiplayer games in the world, and certainly the most popular battle royale title, Fortnite hasn’t been without its issues – especially when it comes to trying to turn your casual play into a professional career. In recent weeks players have voiced their concerns with new freezing issues, and have also taken shots at the aim assist given to competitors who use a controller instead of keyboard and mouse. Some have shown off just how ridiculous it is – comparing it to an aimbot – while others, like Tfue, have mocked just how easy they believe it is to use a controller. So, when one fan decided to donate $20 and ask for some tips on how to improve their Fortnite skill, you could easily guess that the popular streamer was going to take some shots at the game’s issues. “Well, if you don’t have low ping you better move. If you’re on mouse and keyboard, you better switch to a controller and then you just practice,” said Tfue, much to the enjoyment of his viewers who burst out into laughter spam. “If you’re not on linear jumping into people’s boxes then switch to legacy, those are some big tips I can give for you,” he noted, adding some further ‘much-needed’ tips. “If you’re not under the age of 18 then, you know, drink a lot of caffeine and shoot stem cells into your eyes because that’s the only way you’re going to keep up. Other than that, I don’t know.” While plenty of fans could have quickly seen how Tfue was joking, the debate about the game’s problems – especially controller versus keyboard and mouse, and the state of the servers – is still going to rumble on. Whether or not Epic has plans to address these by, say, separating controller and KB/M players in future events, remains to be seen, but they may have to make a change to appease the current crop of players.

Tfue reveals why Fortnite World Cup will be his last competitive event – Dexerto
Tfue reveals why Fortnite World Cup will be his last competitive event Tfue / InstagramFaZe Clan member Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney has revealed that following the Fortnite World Cup, he will be stepping away from competitive play, explaining why on his April 13 stream. Fortnite World Cup qualifiers begin The qualifiers for the $30 million World Cup began on April 13, as players aim to secure a spot at the New York finals in Summer, which boasts a remarkable prize pool that covers both solo and duo matches. For the winners of the solo tournament, they will walk away with $3 million – the biggest amount ever for a single player at an esports tournament – and Tfue is certainly among the hopefuls. Tfue quitting competitive Fortnite There is also a duos event, and Tfue will be teaming up with his FaZe partner Dennis ‘Cloak‘ Lepore for that portion of the World Cup, but after that, he says, he’s done. The reason for his decision may not come as a surprise to some, as he previously missed out on the IEM Katowice Royale tournament to choose streaming instead. “This is my last competitive shit, the World Cup,” Tfue stated, “I’m not going to qualify anyways so shouldn’t even be playing this shit [the qualifiers] anyway. But I don’t care, I don’t need the money anyway. I’m just playing it for fun.” He went on to say that he probably could “do well” in the qualifiers, but explains he would rather “stream and do badly, than not stream.” Streaming his qualifying matches, with no delay either, leaves Tfue open to the threat of ‘stream snipers’ – players deliberately targeting him in-game, knowing his exact position through his stream. Still, in his first day of matches, he racked up 61 points – including an incredible 1 HP clutch too. Tfue’s exit from competitive Fortnite could be a hit for the esport in general, as he is comfortably the best known professional player. He is also currently the second highest earning player in terms of prize money, behind only Ghost Gaming’s Timothy ‘Bizzle’ Miller. Epic Games will be aware of the dilemma they have in keeping popular streamers motivated to play in competitive events, which obviously take time away from them streaming.

Tfue reveals which two guns need to be vaulted for Fortnite to be “so much better” – Dexerto
Tfue reveals which two guns need to be vaulted for Fortnite to be “so much better” Epic GamesTwitch superstar Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney believes that Fortnite Battle Royale could become a much more fun game to play again if two specific weapons were sent to the Vault. While Fortnite is the most popular battle royale game that’s ever existed, it definitely features some polarizing aspects that create divides of opinion among the player-base. The constant addition, adjustment, and removal of weapons, items, vehicles, and game mechanics isn’t always met with universal agreement and praise, and some long-time players often say that the game isn’t as fun as it used to be. One such player is Tfue, who claims that the current pool of weapons is not in its best shape, to say the least, and has called for two specific guns to be removed from the game. “I really think this game would be so much better if they removed the Combat and Drum Shotgun,” he said on stream. Both the Combat and Drum Shotguns are Season 9 additions in Fortnite, and with the Pump now back in the fold, there are a total of four shotguns available in the core default modes. Tfue’s main gripe with the two new guns is that their addition has created an imbalance in the availability of shotguns, causing them to be a lot more difficult to find on the map. “It seems like all the good weapons are so f*cking rare,” he said. “When I first started playing Fortnite, literally there were gray Pumps f*cking everywhere. That sh*t was actually so lit. Now there’s gray dog turds that you can try and throw at people.” It’s clear that the superstar streamer would love to see the game go back to what he feels was a much better time – when Pumps were part of the meta and were readily available all over the map. Having four different shotguns in the core default modes does seem like a tad bit too high, especially considering Epic’s previous stances on having too many similar guns in the game. One pro player has tried to make some sense of it by offering a bizarre conspiracy theory for why unpopular weapons don’t get vaulted, although no one will ever really know if it’s true. At the end of the day, if history has taught us anything, it’s that Epic do as Epic please, and not even a community icon like Tfue can sway them in one direction or another.

Tfue reveals main reason why so many Fortnite streamers have switched to Apex Legends – Dexerto
Tfue reveals main reason why so many Fortnite streamers have switched to Apex Legends FaZe Clan’s Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney has revealed his theory as to why so many Fortnite Battle Royale players and streamers are currently playing Apex Legends. Regardless of what you may think of the game, there is no denying that Apex Legends has burst onto the online gaming scene and instantly become the talk of the town. Apex Legends’ viewership numbers have smashed Fortnite’s in the seven days since its release, largely due to the fact that so many of the world’s biggest Twitch streamers have been playing the game nonstop. According to Tfue, one of the main reasons for why this is happening boils down to stream-snipers, and how streamers who play Apex Legends instead of Fortnite don’t have to deal with the frustration of having to deal with stream-snipers. “That’s why a lot of the streamers switched to fucking Apex, just because of the stream-snipers,” he said. “I mean that’s the only reason I would play Apex. Just because of the large population, you can avoid stream-snipers.” Discussion starts at 0:50 Stream-sniping has been one of the biggest issues in Fortnite for quite a while now, despite the fact that Epic Games added and then expanded a feature that is supposed to prevent it. Tfue has been one of the biggest victims of stream-snipers, and as he explains in the video above, he is almost never able to play the game normally because of the constant threat of players trying to ruin his gaming experience. While some were suggesting methods that Tfue can use to help himself avoid stream-snipers, he pretty much made it clear that he’d rather not stream the game than have to go that far out of his way. Similarly, Team Liquid Fortnite star POACH has also expressed his own frustrations about stream-sniping in Fortnite, and funnily enough, a good amount of the comments to his tweet were suggestions that he should play Apex Legends instead. @ninja has some thoughts on whether @playapex could overtake @fortnite :grimacing: ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #fortnite #esports #battleroyale #epicgames #titanfall #apexlegends #playapex #ninja #stream #twitch #br What do you think this means for the future of Fortnite streamers, especially if the issue of stream-sniping isn’t resolved? Tfue reveals how casters cost him a kill at Fortnite World Cup – Dexerto
Tfue reveals how casters cost him a kill at Fortnite World Cup Epic GamesPopular Fortnite player Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney has revealed that the casters at the World Cup cost him a kill in the very first match of the solos portion of the tournament. Tfue entered Fortnite World Cup as one of the competition’s biggest names, and undoubtedly one of the favorites to finish high up the leaderboard and claim a major share of the $30 million prize pool. Things didn’t work out that way for the 21-year-old though, who struggled throughout the six matches and finished in 67th place with just seven points. Still an admirable effort considering the skill-level of the matches though. On his return to streaming on Tuesday, July 30, Tfue revealed that his points tally could have been higher, had the tournament’s casters not spoiled his position and loadout, and cost him a kill. During his broadcast, the American discussed how the casters affected his and others’ gameplay, as the headphones that were given to players weren’t able to block out the voices of Ben ‘DrLupo’ Lupo and Jack ‘CouRageJD’ Dunlop, who were commentating over the event. “How the World Cup was set up, it was loud as fuck,” the Twitch streamer explained. “They have noise cancelling headphones but it’s so fucking loud that you can hear the announcers and shit.” “I’m early game at The Block, and I’m getting kitted up, I land on the gold chest so I obviously have better loot. We both land at The Block, the announcers are blasting in the mic ‘Tfue at The Block with full shields, a SCAR [assault rifle], a shotgun,’ and all you see is the other kid hitting the wall and leave. He heard it.” This incident took place in the very first match of the solos tournament, and in a clip taken from the official broadcast, it’s clear to see a player named Clipnode exit The Block just moments after Tfue’s position and loadout were mentioned on stream. Of course, it’s possible that this was just a coincidence, and without Clipnode’s confirmation that he left because of the announcers’ call, the true reason for his exit cannot be confirmed. Whether finding the kill against Clipnode at The Block would have made a significant difference to his eventual performance remains uncertain, but the sharp exit of his opponent clearly cost him a golden opportunity at finding an early kill in the competition.

Tfue reveals clever trick to quickly open Fortnite’s Henchmen Chests – Dexerto
Tfue reveals clever trick to quickly open Fortnite’s Henchmen Chests Tfue/Epic GamesStreaming superstar Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney has revealed a pretty clever way to open Henchmen Chests in Fortnite without needing to carry an NPC agent to it or wait for the lengthy scan to complete. Even though Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2 is drawing to a close, the battle royale island is still full to the brim with the Top Secret theming. Different locations all play into the season’s theme – which is sure to change at the start of season three – and some have NPC henchmen guarding them. Defeating these Henchmen can give you some pretty valuable loot, especially if you carry them over to a Henchmen Chest and use the NPC on the scan. However, there are ways to get around needing to scan an enemy to get the chest open. During his June 8 stream, Tfue had dropped at his usual landing spot of The Grotto and took down a few Henchmen that stood in his way. As he approached a Henchmen Chest, though, he took things into his own hands. Instead of using an NPC on the scan, the Twitch star built a small cone on top of the chest. This didn’t make the chest disappear but as he started to scan himself, Tfue quickly edited the cone and the chest then popped open instead of waiting for the lengthy scan successful message. This trick saved the Fortnite star a few seconds, which is enough to give you an advantage in the battle royale. Though, to prove it wasn’t a one-time glitch or bug, Tfue replicated the editing trick a few moments later on another Henchmen Chest. Obviously, you can try and copy what the streaming star managed to pull off, but it’ll probably take some time to practice first off. You’ll also need the area to be clear of actual players, otherwise, your cover would be blown.

Tfue reveals emails to Epic Games about NFL skins, after Ninja’s confusion – Dexerto
Tfue reveals emails to Epic Games about NFL skins, after Ninja’s confusion Epic GamesFaZe Clan pro Fortnite player Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney has cleared up confusion over NFL skins being added to his account, after fellow streamer Ninja mistakenly believed he must have asked for them. The confusion occurred after Tfue discovered the new NFL skins had been added to his ‘Not_Tfue’ account on Fortnite. He bought his first ever skin since having his first account suspended after reaching a 100,000 Retweet goal, and explained why in a Twitter video on November 7, showing that NFL skins had been added to his account. Viewers in Ninja’s stream brought up Tfue’s rare skin purchase, he explained that he believed Epic must have asked for his permission, and Tfue must have agreed, to have the NFL skins added. “I don’t think Epic would have added the NFL skins into to Tfue’s account without his permission. Epic very well knows that Tfue’s all about being a ‘hashtag no skin’. Epic is a very observant company”. In another clip, Ninja continues “No, I promise they did not think they were doing [Tfue] a favor, Tfue doesn’t buy skins. There’s not a single person at Epic that though to themselves ‘hey, even though Tfue never buys skins, he’ll probably really like it if we give him skins early.’” Tfue watched these moments from Ninja on stream, and in an effort to clear up any confusion fans may have, immediately opened up his email inbox. He then put on screen the email he received from Epic Games, offering him the option to have the skins early and promote them. Tfue also showed his response, which despite stating his excitement at the offer, made clear he would decline unless he was the only creator being given early access, or else it would spoil his ‘no skin’ theme, which has become part of his brand at this point. In his response to Epic, Tfue writes: “I assume that other creators are being offered the same thing. While that’s cool and all the default skin is a huge part of my brand. I don’t want to diminish it or budge off of it unless there’s potential for massive gain.” So, it appears that despite his response, Epic Games decided to add the skins to his account anyway, which effectively mean his account was no longer skin free and thus he bought a skin.

Tfue reveals bizarre reason why he can’t use his main Fortnite account – Dexerto
Tfue reveals bizarre reason why he can’t use his main Fortnite account Epic Games / Twitch: TfueStarting in March, Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney began playing on a second Fortnite account – and has revealed the strange reason why he now has to use it permanently and give up the ‘Tfue’ account for good. Tfue first started using his new account – named PeenPapi – to prank “e-girls” and pretend he didn’t know how to play the game, and would simply alternate between the two as and when he wanted to. However, before long he switched to predominantly using his second account and basically made it his main one – and now he’s finally explained why he had to make the change. After a viewer asked why he was using his second account, Tfue said: “I’m never playing on my main account again. This is my main account. I’m never going on Tfue ever again. This is my main.” Tfue went on to explain that his other account is “bugged”, saying “My ping is doubled on my other account, I’m never playing on that account again. Period. I haven’t had this low ping in a real game in f**king months. This is definitely a strange bug or issue to be facing, but Tfue has never made a secret of the troubles he has with ping and is constantly looking for solutions to lower it. Not long after creating his second account, Tfue revealed that due to ping issues in his home state of Florida, he’s contemplating leaving the Sunshine State and instead going to somewhere like Virginia, closer to the Epic Games servers. Ping has always played an important part in online gaming but is especially accentuated in Fortnite due to features such as the building and editing mechanics, so it’s no surprise Tfue wants to give himself the best advantage possible. Having a “bugged” Fortnite account that makes your ping higher sounds strange, but nothing’s impossible, so Tfue may actually be on to something – and we might be calling him PeenPapi before long.

Tfue reacts to incredible sculpture of himself in Fortnite Creative – Dexerto
Tfue reacts to incredible sculpture of himself in Fortnite Creative Epic Games / TfueFaZe Clan’s Tfue is the latest Fortnite player to have a reconstruction of his face made in Fortnite’s creative mode, and the streamer was very impressed by the work. The trend of recreating the faces of popular players and streamers in Fortnite Creative began after this remarkable sculpture of Ninja, which got the ball rolling. Using thousands of blocks with different colors for shading, players can make incredibly detailed structures, although it does take a considerable amount of time. In the case of Ninja’s sculpture, the creator @Sxvxn showed a time lapse so that people could appreciate just how long it took, although with the creation of Tfue we only get to see the finished product. More: Fortnite player becomes first to beat FaZe Cizzorz’s ‘death run’ obstacle course, in incredible record time – The size of the sculpture and level of detail on is ridiculous, and the creator explains in the video’s description that it took “20-25 hours” to complete, using approximately 30,000 blocks. Tfue couldn’e believe it, saying “This man was making my face for 25 hours straight. That’s crazy, imagine dedicating 25 hours just to make someone’s face.” The creation of Ninja’s face was vertical, rather than horizontal, meaning it could fit into the square area known as the ‘Block’, where fan made submissions are added to the game. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like this creation of Tfue would fit into the square area given for the block, so it’s unlikely it ever gets featured. The same creator also made their own version of Ninja in Fortnite creative, which you can see below.

Tfue blown away by insane stats making him “the new face of Twitch” – Dexerto
Tfue blown away by insane stats making him “the new face of Twitch” Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney’s popularity continued to skyrocket over the past 12 months and after being outlined by The Esports Observer as the top individual Twitch streamer of 2019 in terms of total hours watched, the Fortnite star had some choice words upon reflection. One of the biggest names in the Fortnite community, Tfue’s recent accomplishments have eclipsed all others as the content creator officially tallied the most hours watched of any individual streamer in 2019. Although Tfue’s channel fell behind Riot Games’ official Twitch account this year, as well as the Overwatch League broadcast, he clocked in as the biggest individual streamer ahead of close competitors like Jaryd ‘summit1g‘ Lazar, Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, and ‘Asmongold.’ Upon discovering this remarkable statistic, the streamer was taken aback and spent a moment reflecting on his journey over the past 12 months. Entering 2019 with just over four million followers, Tfue rounds out the year with over seven million unique accounts following his activity on the platform. “Listen chat, we may not have won any streamer awards or any esports awards,” he said on December 31, “but at the end of the day, numbers don’t lie.” Sitting at 88 million hours of total watch-time, a whopping 25 million hours separates him from the next individual streamer on the list. Additionally, Tfue has remained mostly exclusive to Fortnite-specific streams throughout 2019 as opposed to engaging with the latest releases to drive viewership for instance. Addressing friendly competitors in the space without naming names, Tfue explained how this individual accomplishment puts him on a different pedestal than any of the awards others had received at the tail end of the year. “All of you guys, I just want to thank you so much for fluctuating me up to the top over every other streamer that got awards. Even though they’re all beautiful people, at the end of the day, numbers don’t lie,” he repeated. Evidently proud of all that he accomplished on Twitch throughout the calendar year, Tfue also competed at the elite level with regularity. Qualifying for the Fortnite World Cup in singles competition as well as placing in the top three for a number of squad-based Fortnite Champion Series tournaments. While Tfue remained loyal to the Amazon-owned streaming platform throughout the year and evidently earned his place in the upper echelon, a number of streaming juggernauts parted ways and undeniably altered the year-end analytics. For instance, despite having left the platform for Mixer in August and October respectively, Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins and Michael ‘shroud‘ Grzesiek both remained in the top ten Twitch accounts of 2019 in terms of total watch-time.

Tfue rages at how much lag ruins Fortnite: “This game is so dumb” – Dexerto
Tfue rages at how much lag ruins Fortnite: “This game is so dumb” With the $30m World Cup fast approaching, Twitch star Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney labelled Fortnite “so dumb” after experiencing one of the biggest issues Epic Games currently face. Qualifiers for the event – which will be the largest tournament prize pool in the history of esports – ended last week with many notable names missing out on a qualification spot including Team Liquid’s Ryan ‘Chap’ Chaplo and former FaZe member Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore. Competitive players noticed a distinct advantage some players had regarding their connection – finding players with 0 ping were able to win more close quarter engagement. Ping relates to a player’s connection to the server and having lower ping allows players to place their builds before their opponent – meaning they can ‘steal’ walls to create opportunities to inflict damage. As a result, Tfue moved his entire setup to boost his chances of qualifying, but was given a reminder of just how much of an annoying playing with increased ping can be while back in his Florida home. After boxing up to fight an enemy, the 21-year-old was holding his wall before his foe replaced it instantly, allowing him to hit a quick pump shot, before replacing it a second time to get the elimination. Tfue expressed his frustration immediately, suggesting the player lived in Pennsylvania – a state known for its low ping in Fortnite. “Come on Florida ping, stop cucking me,” he said. “He’s from Pennsylvania too – there’s no way. First try, yoinks my wall, interesting. Second try, yoinks my wall too.” The TwitchCon winner continued his rant, blaming his poor connection for losing the engagement. Tfue said: “This game is so dumb. It blows your fucking mind. My builds aren’t placing because I live in Florida where my internet is dogshit. Before this dude with 0 ping yoinks all my walls.” The former H1Z1 pro was able to highlight just how effective playing with low ping can be when teaming up with Sentinel’s star Kyle ‘Bugha’ Giersdorf, a player who benefits from the best connection possible. After multiple attempts to replace an enemy’s floor tile to no avail, Tfue asks Bugha to try instead, and he instantly steals it from his challenger to secure the elimination, much to his teammate’s amusement. Ping is arguably the biggest issue that Epic Games must tackle in terms of competitive Fortnite, but given the complex nature of the problem, a solution that works for everyone will be difficult to find.

Tfue proves how overpowered the BRUTE mech is by destroying Fortnite pros – Dexerto
Tfue proves how overpowered the BRUTE mech is by destroying Fortnite pros Epic Games/ Twitch: TfuePopular Twitch streamer Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney showed, once again, how overpowered Fortnite’s BRUTE mechs are, with an insane clip against fellow professionals. Fortnite’s BRUTE mechs have received an overwhelmingly negative response from the majority of the community, with many prominent figures condemning them as overpowered and without sufficient counters. In spite of the backlash, Epic Games are refusing to budge, explaining in an August 15 post that the Mechs are helping less talented players achieve victory royales. However, if unskilled players are successful with them, imagine what they can do in the hands of one of the world’s best. Tfue was in Arena Trios alongside longtime duo Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore and Team Liquid pro Thomas ‘72hrs‘ Mulligan, when he hopped into the Mech in order to secure the victory. He demolishes a number of enemy builds, before taking out three enemies – FaZe Dubs and Megga, and Envy LeNain. The ridiculous nature of the BRUTE mechs is evident, with Tfue not having to do anything but vaguely aim at the opponents and fire 10 missiles at a time. There is nothing his opponents can do, as he eliminates three of the best in the world while in a completely invulnerable position. The missiles have been one of the major issues with the BRUTEs, given the fact that 10 are fired simultaneously. This often means the first five or so demolish the players builds, with the rest annihilating the player, even if they are at maximum health and shields. Similarly, players in the mechs are protected by a defensive shield and a 1000 HP, meaning their insane offensive firepower can be utilized while in an invulnerable position. Tfue has been critical of the mechs in the past, even telling Epic Games to “go fuck yourselves” as a result of their in game power. However, he appears content to use them to his own advantage, destroying enemy pros with little difficulty. Epic Games apparently see no issue with the BRUTEs current performance, explaining that it aids lesser players.

Tfue pulls off xQc’s famous foot-smash rage after annoying Fortnite death – Dexerto
Tfue pulls off xQc’s famous foot-smash rage after annoying Fortnite death Fortnite superstar Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney pulled a move out of fellow popular streamer Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel’s book when raging following a frustrating death. As fun as Fortnite may be for a lot of people, it’s definitely not lacking when it comes to rage-inducing moments. No matter if you’re one of the best players in the world or someone who plays casually, you’re bound to catch yourself boiling in anger at the game from time to time. This even happens to some of the biggest Fortnite streamers, like Tfue, who can sometimes be so filled with rage at something in the game that they forget thousands of people are watching them live. In a recent stream, Tfue found himself on the wrong end of a gunfight in Fortnite, and the anger that followed says all you need to know about what he thought of the situation. “What the f*ck man?!” the star streamer yelled. “Why are there two f*cking guys waiting for me outside the storm bro?” However, what caught the viewers’ attention was not what he said but rather what he did. Midway through the yelling, he leaned back in his chair, lifted his legs in the air and slammed them on his table. Read More: Fortnite pro accuses Tfue of “witch hunt” – It didn’t take long for viewers to recognize the move as xQc’s infamous foot-smash that the Overwatch star had done a few months earlier while also raging at Fortnite. While the origins of the move may not be known, it was certainly popularized by xQc, who’s done it a number of times during his countless spells of rage on his own stream. While it’s unclear whether or not Tfue knew he was copying xQc’s rage technique, but it’s more likely that he did, considering how similar it was and the fact that it happened while playing the same game. There’s no doubting xQc’s status as one of the more entertaining streamers to watch get angry at video games, so this is probably not the last we’ve seen of his infamous foot-smash move.

Tfue “pissed off” with “idiot” pro players in Fortnite Battle Royale – Dexerto
Tfue “pissed off” with “idiot” pro players in Fortnite Battle Royale Epic Games / Reddit / Tfue – TwitchTurner ‘Fortnite Battle Royale ‘pros’ play, angry with their tactics and saying they lose sight of the bigger picture of winning. Not only is Tfue one of the most Fortnite Battle Royale streamers on Twitch, he’s also one of the top professional players in the game. He has already qualified for the Fortnite World Cup in the Solos playlist, but he’s still working towards qualifying in the Duos portion with his partner FaZe Cloak. Tfue never shies away from sharing his opinion on the state of the game, but this time took aim at other pros, not happy with how some of them play. “These fucking idiot kids will dead-ass loot one fucking chest and just sit and hide,” he said. “Even if you do kill us, you’re not gonna get any loot and you’re going to lose the game.” “Kids are so tied up in trying to win the fight that they lose the bigger picture in trying to win the game,” he said. “That is a problem this game has fucking had with idiot fucking pro players that probably shouldn’t be fucking labeled as pros.” Tfue doesn’t call anybody out by name, but his point about players sitting in boxes with one weapon becomes evident any time you watch a World Cup qualifying match. The end-game circle usually features upwards of 30 players all trying to stay alive by turtling up. One major escape route is being disabled for the May 18 and 19 qualifiers though, as Epic Games announced on Twitter that all vehicles were being disabled for this weekend’s event. Due to an issue where players can become stuck in a vehicle and unable to exit, we will be disabling all vehicles in Arena Mode and the Fortnite World Cup Online Open through the weekend. — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) May 16, 2019 This means the players that relied on the Ballers in end-game situations will have to find another strategy to use. Removing the vehicles comes on the heels of another major shakeup that saw the Pump Shotgun vaulted at the start of Season 9, leading many players to find another go-to finishing weapon.

Tfue plagued by bugs in Fortnite World Cup qualifier: “This game is so shit” – Dexerto
Tfue plagued by bugs in Fortnite World Cup qualifier: “This game is so shit” Fortnite professional player Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney lost his cool after falling victim of a number of bugs during the latest World Cup qualifier. The Fortnite World Cup grand finals take place on July 26-28 in New York, with 100 players from around the world set to battle it out in a solo tournament where the winner will receive a whopping $3 million. Unlike the actual tournament, qualifiers for the event have been held online, giving everyone the chance to compete for life-changing prize money alongside some of the top professional players in the game. As a result, there have been numerous issues which have been a constant headache for players, most recently Tfue, who encountered issues despite moving to a brand-new setup to lower his ping. While attempting to shadow bomb into the safe zone, the 21-year-old became stuck, allowing an enemy to take a free shot with the combat shotgun. Now low on health, Tfue was eventually eliminated after other players targeted his box. “My game fucking crashed,” he fumed. “What the fuck is that? This game is so shit. How can a game be this shit?!” It wasn’t the only issue the former FaZe Clan member ran into as he was eliminated due to an audio issue which has plagued the game for months. With numerous players spraying at his wall and floor, he received no audio cue for another enemy behind him who easily secured the elimination, leaving Tfue visibly frustrated. Fortunately for the Twitch star, he is already qualified for the solo grand finals, guaranteeing him at least $50,000 in prize money. However, he is yet to qualify for the duo event alongside long-term partner Dennis ‘Cloakzy’ Lapore with just one more week remaining to book their place in New York.

Tfue finds overpowered sniping spot in Fortnite to see the whole map – Dexerto
Tfue finds overpowered sniping spot in Fortnite to see the whole map Twitch streamer Turner ‘Fortnite to get a vantage point on a player anywhere on the map. Epic Games have been making a ton of changes to their battle royale. While some additions have been well-received by the community, others like the B.R.U.T.E.s haven’t been the most popular element in Season X with players. Another imposing addition to the battle royale island comes in the form of a Frozen Meteor hanging right above Factory, where players can stand on, loot, and sometimes use it to their advantage when trying to take out their foes. Tfue was shown a sweet spot in the battle royale when playing with longtime friend Dennis ‘Cloakzy’ Lepore and Team Liquid’s Thomas ‘72hrs’ Mulligan during his Fortnite stream. The trio narrowed to a duo as surviving members Cloakzy and Tfue thought up of the best way to pick off players from the remaining pool of nearly 60 combatants when they landed on a good ol’ fashion skybase with a twist. The streamers thought to ramp up along the smoke trails of the Frozen Comet to be shrouded in its plume while seeing if they could get a shot on anyone down below. To Tfue’s surprise, it worked like a charm. “I can’t see shit,” Tfue said. “Oh my god, this is so sick. I can’t fuckin even see though, like I don’t know if I’m going to walk off or not.” It was only after they reached “height limit” when they hunkered down just to immediately see an opponent 263 meters away. With the vantage point, Tfue and Cloakzy had a clear shot at the foe, since they were so high up they could look right into the top of their build. Downing the player only took a coordinated double snipe shot from Tfue and Cloakzy to show that the OP spot can actually churn out results. Even though they were eventually snuffed out of their spot when the zone started to close, it was a hilarious and successful experiment to find one of the best spots to snipe in Fortnite.
