Team Liquid’s Poach explains why the Grappler should stay in Fortnite Professional Fortnite player Jake ‘Poach’ Brumleve doesn’t agree with the sentiments of some of his colleagues with regards to the Grappler. The Grappler was added to the game as part of the V5.40 update on September 6 and gives players the chance to latch onto objects and traverse towards them at high speeds. It didn’t take long for top players to get the hang of using the new item and some, like FaZe Clan’s Tyler ‘Tfue’ Tenney, have already expressed the opinion that it is “too much” when used by the pros. However, Poach disagrees. The Team Liquid man was discussing the subject while playing with Ninja, NICKMERCS and timthetatman recently and explained that the Grappler gives players a chance in some of the more difficult late game scenarios. “A lot of these mobility items really just buff the double barrell a lot. But I was gonna say, like, those ending zones, like, with the Grappler addition it’s super nice,” he says. “When you end on the side of a mountain, everyone just died on the side of a mountain, unless you had high ground, but now the Grappler actually gives you a chance to get back up.” Whether you fall more on the side of Tfue or Poach, it’s hard to deny the fact that the Grappler is one of the most powerful items to be added to the game in recent memory. Couple that with the fact that professional players already seem to be about 50 moves ahead of the average user and it’s easy to understand why some people think it needs to be removed or nerfed. From a spectator’s point of view, though, watching what some people are capable of doing with the mobility aid is incredibly entertaining.

Team Liquid’s POACH shares thoughts on how to fix competitive Fortnite – Dexerto
Team Liquid’s POACH shares thoughts on how to fix competitive Fortnite Team Liquid professional Fortnite player Jake ‘POACH’ Brumleve believes that the competitive side of the game needs a major overhaul. In a series of posts he put out on Twitter, POACH laid out the case for why and how competitive Fortnite could be changed from the better. In his proposal, he suggested that one of the major issues currently plaguing the competitive scene is the fact that passive play is more rewarding than aggressive play. “The fact that the best way to play and do well competitively in Fortnite is to run away and avoid all interaction is a problem in my opinion,” he tweeted. He went on to propose that some of the core aspects of competitive play should be controlled by the game itself, rather than a rule-set or format. “Here’s the key, the game needs to reward aggression, not the competitive formats,” he said. “You can claim that the kill incentives work, however its almost never worth any in situation to push for a kill. After fighting a good player you will almost always be put in a worse position some way or another whether it be mat count, positioning, health or ammo loss.” One idea that POACH put forward is rewarding players with guaranteed loot for eliminating opponents at certain stage of the game. “Adding some sort of base loot drop at certain stages in the game could change a lot. Like early game a kill guarantees 50-100 mats, mid-game a kill guarantees some sort of med, mats and ammo etc… That way you’re guaranteed something that could be useful.” Another aspect of competitive Fortnite that POACH feels could be improved is third party gunfights, which refers to players shooting at opponents who are already engaged in another gunfight. “Another possible solution I toyed with is some sort of over-shield while in a build fight that 3rd parties would deal less damage at distance,” he proposed. “Sounds crazy but could potentially discourage others from interrupting and wasting time and giving the chance to the two who initiated. Anyone who knows of POACH would be aware that he is one of the most prominent, successful, and skilled competitive Fortnite players, which means that these proposals are not self-driven but rather genuine ideas for improving the game’s competitive side of things. However, his suggestions would mean that Epic Games would have to integrate fundamental changes into how Fortnite works, which might not be in their immediate plans. For now, it would appear that Epic are content with experimenting with different competitive formats in their weekly Skirmish tournaments,

Team Liquid’s Poach explains surprise decision to retire from Fortnite – Dexerto
Team Liquid’s Poach explains surprise decision to retire from Fortnite YouTube: PoachTeam Liquid’s Jake ‘Poach‘ Brumleve has revealed that he plans to step back from competing in Fortnite Battle Royale and instead focus on streaming, after questioning the basic ‘competitiveness’ of the game. As one of the game’s best known competitive players, Poach is set to miss out on the upcoming World Cup, after failing to qualify despite changing up his duo partners. But, it looks like the World Cup qualifiers may be his last competitive action, as the 20-year-old has revealed that he aims to focus more on his Twitch streaming career, than on winning tournaments. Speaking to his viewers on June 26, Poach explained: “I’m going to focus more on streaming, and going that direction with my career within Fortnite.” Surprisingly – or perhaps not so, depending who you ask – Poach highlighted the lack of competitiveness for his sudden retirement. He continued: “I don’t really enjoy playing Fortnite competitively, because I don’t feel the game is very competitive.” Brumleve also says that his general enjoyment of the game, competitive or otherwise, has began to wane as time has gone on, although does say recent updates have improved things. Poach hints that he may move into a more ‘variety’ style of streaming, where he plays more than just what he’s known for. Although, a majority of his fans only know him for one thing and breaking that mould can be difficult. Fellow Fortnite competitor Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney has already stepped away from competitive play, and it appears that more and more are following suit, seeing the lucrative opportunities of streaming as a preferred alternative to Epic Games’ undeniably shaky start to life for Fortnite esports. While he won’t be at the World Cup finals in New York when it kicks off in July, Poach mocked the format of the event on Twitter, after it was revealed that only six matches would be played, to decide who wins the $3m first place prize. Many top professional players in various esports have made the transition successfully of course, most notably Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek, a former CS:GO pro, and even top streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins started out as a competitive Halo player, before becoming the streaming phenomenon he is today.

Team Liquid Owner Explains Why They Picked Vivid Over Strafesh0t for the Main Fortnite Pro Team – Dexerto
Team Liquid Owner Explains Why They Picked Vivid Over Strafesh0t for the Main Fortnite Pro Team The recent addition of Noah ‘Vivid’ Wright to Team Liquid’s pro Fortnite team has led to some necessary roster realignment for the organization. Vivid has been placed directly in the main squad, joining players 72hrs, Poach, and Chap, with Strafesh0t having now been relegated to a different role within the team. In a video released on August 30, co-CEO and co-owner Steve Arhancet explained the thought process that went behind making this decision. “A lot of the community sentiment so far has been like ‘oh he’s benched, he’s not on the team.’ I just want to clear that up. We approached Strafesh0t and said ‘hey look, if there are squad events […] then we’re going to go with the most competitive roster that we can and that may not include you.’” However, Arhancet did emphasize that Strafesh0t was still very much part of the overall scheme of things, even if he wasn’t on the main squad, although the door is always open for him to pursue better opportunities should he receive offers from other orgs. “‘But, if you want to continue being part of Team Liquid as an organization, we’re here to support you man. We made an agreement on a contract that if you’re putting in everything that you can and we’re going to be here for you.’ He will continue with Team Liquid, he has the opportunity to go chase other offers and other teams. […] W’re going to stay fluid, so like what events may come in the future and he’s also interested in maybe going into a coaching role.” Regardless of how the roster gets aligned moving forward, few can deny that the addition of Vivid has strengthened the squad considerably. The players have already proven they can find success with their new teammate as several of them have teamed with him and placed well in past Summer Skirmish tournaments.

Team Liquid’s Poach dethroned as Fortnite player to win the most amount of money – Top 10 earnings list – Dexerto
Team Liquid’s Poach dethroned as Fortnite player to win the most amount of money – Top 10 earnings list It looks like Team Liquid’s Jake ‘Poach’ Brumleve is no longer the Fortnite Battle Royale player to have earned the most amount of money from competitions. According to Esports Earnings, the North American star has officially been dethroned Ghost Gaming’s Timothy ‘Bizzle’ Miller, who has amassed just under $300,000 despite the game being only a year old. Bizzle has been a consistent performer in the Summer Skirmish and Fall Skirmish series’, finishing in second place at the PAX West Summer Skirmish finals and a number of other online competitions. Despite never winning a week of the skirmish, his ability to always finish near the top has seen him surpass some of his more inconsistent colleagues. Poach is still in contention for the top spot with his $277,975 of earnings being enough to keep him ahead of third place Austin ‘Morgausse’ Etue, the winner of the Summer Skirmish Series finals at PAX West. Interestingly, Morgausse’s $250,000 for winning that particular event makes up the entirety of the prize money that the young player has made in his career so far. The rest of the top ten is a who’s who of Fortnite stars, with Liquid’s 72hrs and Vivid, FaZe Clan’s Nate Hill and Tfue, and NRG’s Zayt all making appearances with well over $100,000 earned. The full top ten breakdown, as of October 1, is as follows:

Team Liquid Fortnite Pro ‘Poach’ Defends What He Said About TSM’s ‘Myth,’ But Thinks His Hard Work Will Eventually Pay Off – Dexerto
Team Liquid Fortnite Pro ‘Poach’ Defends What He Said About TSM’s ‘Myth,’ But Thinks His Hard Work Will Eventually Pay Off Team Liquid’s ‘Poach’ and Team SoloMid’s ‘Myth’ are two of the best Fortnite players in the world, and are consistently invited by Epic Games to participate in the $8 million Summer Skirmish tournament series. However, while Poach’s performances and placements in the Skirmish have been outstanding, Myth’s results have left a lot to be desired. When talking about Myth live on stream, Poach made the point that people should stop doubting Myth and criticizing him since many “would give up” if they were in his situation. When he brought this point up, some called him out for having “roasted” Myth, but the Team Liquid pro defended his comments. “It’s not a roast that he hasn’t done super well in the Skirmishes. I mean he’s aware of that, it’s placements. But I’m saying it’s the first tournaments, and he puts in a lot more time than most pros, he wants to be the best.” However, Poach went on to say that he predicts all the hard work and time will eventually pay off for Myth, who is often doubted by members of the competitive Fortnite community. “The time will pay off if he continues. I’m just saying, he gets a really bad rap from a lot of people who don’t put in the time that he does. You can’t hate on somebody for trying when other people in his situation are not trying nearly hard enough to get better.” With just one week left in the Summer Skirmish, Myth will hope that its eight time the charm for him to do well and place high. However, with Epic Games planning numerous other competitions in the near future, the captain of TSM Fortnite will likely have several chance to prove that he does indeed belong with the best.

Team Khanada wins Fortnite Ninja Battles Week 3 – Final placements – Dexerto
Team Khanada wins Fortnite Ninja Battles Week 3 – Final placements Epic GamesTyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has finally returned to hosting his Ninja Battles tournaments after a two-month hiatus and all-new winners took home the first-place prize. Here’s a full recap of how the latest event unfolded. Ninja launched his own series of Fortnite competitions back in May with a whopping $80,000 up for grabs week in and week out. While the first two weeks went off without a hitch as North America’s best trios did battle, the event soon came to a halt. With the surprise collapse of Mixer, the streaming superstar was left without a platform to call home. What followed was weeks of silence, with Ninja admittedly considering retirement from streaming altogether. However, he finally made his return on August 5 with a random Twitch stream. While he’s not yet willing to lock down with any platform in particular, this stream marked his return to the spotlight. Allowing his Fortnite tournaments to come back in full force as well. The third week of Ninja Battles competition rolled around on August 13 and we’ve got you covered with a full recap. The latest iteration of the one-day tournament brought together 18 of the top Fortnite trios across NA. From FaZe Clan players such as Nate Hill, to World Cup champion Bugha, and NRG’s Benjyfishy, the event was stacked with popular names and veteran competitors alike. Each trio was to compete in a total of five matches during the tournament. Teams would then be scored based on their final placement in each match, along with their collective eliminations. Here’s how the action played out. Ninja Battles Week 3 – Final Placements While plenty of big names came out swinging, the trios that actually placed in the money might come as a surprise. Bugha’s team couldn’t quite stay ahead of the pack this time around, falling to 14th place overall. Meanwhile, the likes of 100 Thieves duo rehx and Arkhram landed in the sixth spot while teaming with NRG’s EpikWhale. Below is a full list of the final placements. Taking out the first place prize was the trio of Khanada, Kreo, and Bucke. While all three are veteran competitors, this event marked one of the first times they actually played together. Kreo is most known for his fourth-place finish at the World Cup in 2019. Thanks to his efforts this time around, his team was able secure $25,000 in this online event. The future of Fortnite looks bright as it has already seen enormous growth and I’m looking forward to what EPIC has to offer.” – Rounding out our squad is the patient assassin Chap. Chap has no problem holding it down for the team, just before he tears down the competition with C4 and LMG demolition. “Once I tasted the Team Liquid Chef Manny’s food it was over. It’s kinda hard to fail when you have 100 million dollars.”

Team Kaliber kick Fortnite pro for attempting to cheat in World Cup – Dexerto
Team Kaliber kick Fortnite pro for attempting to cheat in World Cup Professional Fortnite player, Jonathan ‘JonnyK’ Kosmala has been kicked from Team Kaliber for attempting to cheat in the Fortnite World Cup, after a video ‘exposing’ him installing cheats was released. Pro player apparently attempts to cheat qualifiers The Fortnite World Cup has a lot at stake with over $40 million on the line as a total prize pool for the online and offline events. Competitive players have no room for error if they want to qualify and attend the World Cup finals in New York City on July 26. Professional Fortnite player JonnyK who was signed to Team Kaliber back in August 2018, was exposed for installing cheats in preparation for the Fortnite World Cup, aiming to gain an unfair competitive advantage over the other competitors. A video was released by ‘The Fortnite Guy’ on YouTube, detailing JonnyK’s conversation with the supposed hacker who was providing him with ESP cheats, which are used to grant vision of enemies through cover such as walls. The Fortnite Guy showed the transaction made between JonnyK and the hacker, as well as screenshots and a recording of the screen-shared call, in which JonnyK went through the process of installing the cheats and getting immediately banned when trying to load into a game. Direct messages supposedly sent between YouTuber ‘The Fortnite Guy’ and the individual responsible for selling the hacks were later shared to social media, appearing to show the pair had conspired to catch, and later expose, JonnyK in the act of purchasing and using the cheats. The hacker released a YouTube video explaining his involvement in the exposing, and claimed that ‘The Fortnite Guy’ told him to get JonnyK banned and record it for the purpose of his exposing video. Team Kaliber issued a statement about JonnyK’s cheating on Twitter, saying that they have released him from their professional Fortnite roster after finding out he was intending on cheating in the World Cup Qualifiers. After explaining that they had ended their relationship with him, they then went on to apologize to supporters for his “lapse in judgement.” We have released Johnathan Kosmala from our Fortnite team. We are shocked to learn that he was cheating during the World Cup Qualifiers. This violation is serious and we have ended our relationship with him. We apologize to our supporters for his lapse in judgement. — Team Kaliber (@TeamKaliber) April 14, 2019 JonnyK has since deleted his Twitter account and has not made a public comment on the situation as of yet.

Team Exploit Win Red Bull Rise Till Dawn Tournament Hosted by Ninja and DrLupo – Final Placements Twitter/@redbullesportsThe duo of NateHill and SoaR Funkbomb took home first place at the Red Bull Rise Till Dawn Fortnite tournament, which was hosted by top streamers Ninja and DrLupo. The tournament was 90 duos head to the top floor of the Willis Tower in Chicago, to play through the night for a shot at the prize money. It was the first major Fortnite event to be run by Red Bull, as part of their new partnership with Ninja, who is sponsored by the energy drink brand. The tournament winners netter $1,125 each, which some have noted is a fairly small payout, but it is likely due to the $10,000 limit which Epic Games has imposed on 3rd party tournament organizers. Ninja streamed the entire tournament on his personal Twitch channel, attracting consistently over 100,000 concurrent viewers throughout. Paired up with each other, the competitors would get extra points on the score board for eliminating either Ninja or Lupo, and received standard points for every elimination and victory royale. Team Atlantis and Mitr0 respond to Fortnite contract controversy – Dexerto
Team Atlantis and Mitr0 respond to Fortnite contract controversy Team AtlantisSeveral prominent Fortnite players have spoken out in defense of Dmitri “Mitr0” Van de Vrie’s alleged poor contract with Team Atlantis which led to a response by both him and the organization. On September 16, players such as Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney, Kyle ‘Mongraal’ Jackson, and several others tweeted with the hashtag #FreeMitr0, referencing his contract with esports organization Team Atlantis. Twitch streamer THump claimed Mitr0 was stuck in a bad contract with the org and wasn’t giving him an opportunity to renegotiate it. Fuck it I’ll just throw this on the timeline as well. Pay your players what they’re worth or let these CHILDREN make the life changing money they should be making.. not the 5 sheckles a month you currently pay them @Team_Atlantis https://t.co/MVJF7FIIV9 — Donald THump (@THump) September 16, 2019 The org tweeted on September 17 they were going to release a statement later in the day, while also asked for people to stop sending threats to their employees and players. In Team Atlantis’s statement, the organization says it isn’t taking any of Mitr0’s revenue from Twitch or YouTube, and also said he was one of the highest-paid players at the time of his signing. “Without disclosing details of the contract, his salary at this time was one of the highest amongst the world-calibre Fortnite esports competitors and it’s nothing close to how low the social media channels are announcing it,” said the team in a statement. Atlantis says his salary was raised as recently as January 2019, but Mitr0 eventually outgrew the team and wanted to jump ship to a bigger organization. Full statement on #FreeMitr0 situation Read: https://t.co/nzyDq7XyYK — Team Atlantis (@Team_Atlantis) September 17, 2019 The team says no buyout offer was enough that would cover the damage caused by Mitr0 leaving and the plan was to wait out the duration of his contract before he left. With the hashtag spreading like wildfire, the team has agreed to left Mitr0 go following the conclusion of the Fortnite Champion Series. Mitr0 later confirmed this in his own statement released on Twitter. “After talking with Atlantis management today, it was mutually agreed that Atlantis would release me after FNCS,” he wrote. “I wish Atlantis, their staff and all of the players nothing but the best moving forward.” Mitr0 is qualified for the Champion Series with his Trio of Mongraal and Benjyfishy. The three players secured first place in three of the five qualifying weeks in the Europe region. He will become a big-name free agent once he’s freed from his contract and will most likely catch the eyes of many big organizations looking to grow their Fortnite roster.

Team Envy Announce Popular Streamer As Captain of Professional Fortnite Team – Dexerto
Team Envy Announce Popular Streamer As Captain of Professional Fortnite Team As the potential for Fortnite Battle Royale esports continues to grow, more and more big name organizations are getting involved, with the latest being Team Envy. Despite there being little in the way of official tournaments or leagues, the popularity of Fortnite as a casual game currently, means it is only a matter of time until the competitive side of things takes off. And with that anticipation in mind, it is no surprise that top esports organizations such as FaZe Clan, Team SoloMid and Fnatic have already recruited full rosters of four. Of course with no competitive or tournament experience to base recruitment on, many of these teams have looked at some of the biggest and best Fortnite live streamers as potential players for their rosters. FaZe Clan for example recruited popular streamer Thang “SpaceLyon” Phan as one of their first members, and now Team Envy have taken a similar route. Picking up one of the top Fortnite streamers on Amazon owned site Twitch, KingRichard will become firstly a streamer for the organization, but also the captain of their competitive roster. BIG ANNOUNCEMENT – Welcome @KlNGRICHARD to the Envy family! We’re excited to have one of the top @FortniteGame players in the world captain our entry into the game. Catch his stream here: https://t.co/KXRXPi75Ef pic.twitter.com/3u7P2GNax5 — Team Envy (@TeamEnVyUs) May 2, 2018 Presumably Envy will be looking to round out a full roster of four, since it appears that is the direction Fortnite esports is heading, however, they may wait to see more details about potential tournaments and leagues. The biggest Fortnite live streamer, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins recently held one of the first Fortnite LAN events at Esports Arena Las Vegas, but had everyone playing solo rather than in squads. The event was a major success and there are now hints that perhaps solo matches will be the way forward for Fortnite esports, but considering many teams have already got four-man rosters, it is unclear currently.

Teacher suing to get job back after being fired for playing Fortnite with students – Dexerto
Teacher suing to get job back after being fired for playing Fortnite with students PixabayA school teacher who was fired for playing Fortnite online with his students is suing to get his job back, after claiming that he was unfairly dismissed. The Brooklyn gym teacher, Brett Belsky, would write his online username on the classroom board and select students that had done well in class to play with him in the popular battle royale video game. However, after talking to parents about the technique at a parent teacher conference, his “games for grades” strategy backfired as a father of one of the children made a complaint to the principal – as reported by the New York Post. After overhearing students talk about the game after it was released, he found that they weren’t focused enough on their school work and then introduced his teaching tactic in January 2018. Complaints, though, sparked an investigation from educational authorities and he has since lost his job. “School employees shouldn’t interact with students online except for school-related reasons,” a Department of Education (DOE) spokesman told The Post. “Mr. Belsky was terminated based on his overall performance, including a review of this case.” Now, he is on a mission to reclaim his position. “As any great educator would do, Mr. Belsky sought the best ways to motivate and connect with his students,” the recently filed suit states. “The report did not indicate that anything inappropriate took place between Mr. Belsky and the student. In fact, when asked about Mr. Belsky’s tactics with her son, the SCI Report indicated, ‘Mother A felt this conduct was appropriate and motivational,’” the filing states. Belsky is looking for a judge to order the DOE to give him his job back, alleging that officials wrongfully accused him of hugging a student, spinning a girl in class and claiming he said that he would like to “adopt” a student – all of which he denies.

Fortnite Icon Series collaborations have long been a fan favorite, with real-life celebrities receiving their own in-game cosmetic skins and items for players to buy and equip during Battle Royale action. Icons include streamers like Ninja and SypherPK, as well as musicians like The Weeknd and Bruno Mars. However, with the release of the Fortnite Festival game mode, more artists are finding their way into the game, appearing in Jam Tracks, emotes, and even unique Festival Pass skins. Most recently, the Lady Gaga skin was included in the Festival Pass as an Icon Series skin, and fans adored the entire collaboration. According to an ongoing leaked video, musical singer SZA might soon be featured as a Fortnite Icon in an upcoming collaboration. Here is what we know about the rumor thus far. Is SZA getting a Fortnite skin? While there is a leaked video featuring SZA’s body scan in front of a blue background (the same color used for Fortnite skin backgrounds), Epic Games and the artist themselves have not confirmed or announced an upcoming collaboration with Fortnite. In the past, musicians such as Lil Nas X, Juice WRLD, and Harry Styles were rumored to be in the game in a similar manner but did not have leaked videos as SZA does. Since there is no Jam Track that incorporates SZA, it will be interesting to see the musician emerge in the game during the upcoming Fortnite Festival season. However, admirers of the artist are hoping that the video is authentic, similar to the leaked Andrew Garfield Spider-Man footage from No Way Home behind-the-scenes photos. We’ll keep you updated if anything changes regarding SZA’s appearance as a Fortnite skin. ‘Tactics Showdown’ LTM Found in v5.0 Game Files, May Be Coming Soon to Fortnite – Details and Image – Dexerto
‘Tactics Showdown’ LTM Found in v5.0 Game Files, May Be Coming Soon to Fortnite – Details and Image It appears that there is a brand new Limited Time Mode coming soon to Fortnite: Battle Royale. Data miners have uncovered the ‘Tactics Showdown’ LTM in game files that appeared after the launch of the v5.0 update on July 12. The Tactics Showdown mode was first leaked after being found in the v4.4 update files, but was never officially released. According to news outlet ‘FortniteINTEL,’ all playlists were removed from the game files at the start of Season 5, except for the Playground and 50v50 modes, but now this image has appeared under the name BR_LTM-Tile_Tactics-Showdown: It is not yet clear whether this is identical to the previous, unreleased version of the mode, but if it is, then it would likely follow the same description and format which were found in the original files. Description “This mode encourages tactical combat and building by putting a cap on the amount of resources and ammunition players can carry. Player-built structures also start off with less health than normal, and when players are eliminated they will drop fewer resources than normal”Loading Screen Information Focus on the Fight. Winning in Tactics Showdown requires careful aim and thoughtful use of building materialsBuild Smart. Try using natural cover in order to conserve resources!Don’t Spray & Spray. The cap on how much ammo can be carried is lower in this mode – make every shot count! Considering the fact that this mode was discovered previously and not released, it would be wise to wait for an official confirmation and announcement from Epic Games before getting excited. However, should this LTM get released, it would likely become popular due to its unique and more difficult format. Source – FortniteINTEL

SypherPK uncovers secret tips and tricks with Fortnite cars – Dexerto
SypherPK uncovers secret tips and tricks with Fortnite cars Epic Games[jwplayer Puy4UiEa]Popular Fortnite content creator SypherPK has revealed a few secrets with the different cars in the battle royale – and some are pretty useful. After much anticipation, the Joyride Cars were finally added to Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode with the V13.40 patch. The cars, which range from the sporty Whiplash to the slower Mudflap, have been dotted around the map. As players have been able to get behind the wheel and use the cars to rotate and move around the map more efficiently, some are starting to cotton on to which ones are better than others and how best to use them. However, there a few secrets that are worth knowing that could help you get the best out of your favorite car. Fortnite cars secret tips and tricks The tips and tricks come courtesy of SypherPK’s newest video, as he revealed that the Mudflap is two times faster off-road compared to the Whiplash. That’s probably not a major shock, the sports car would be super overpowered if it performed well off-road, so its best to stick to the tarmac. Though, you can take the cars up in the sky just a little. That’s right, if you hit a Crash Pad, you will be given a “decent boost,” according to the YouTuber. However, the same can’t be said for Launch Pads. On top of that, players have also found a way to hide underneath the pickup truck. By driving up a hill, quickly jumping out and letting the car run you over, you can actually hide under the car and shoot out. As Chapter 2, Season 3 rolls on and Epic builds towards Season 4, the cars will likely receive changes through the different patches. This might render some of these currently secret tips a bit useless, but, it should also add some new things for players to learn. We’ll just have to watch what comes down the line.

SypherPK uncovers Fortnite Cuddle Fish trick to do damage through walls – Dexerto
SypherPK uncovers Fortnite Cuddle Fish trick to do damage through walls Epic GamesWith the release of Fortnite Season 6, players got a brand-new item to try out called the Cuddle Fish, which deals explosive damage to others. Now, YouTuber SypherPK has shown off a strategy to help fans dominate with the item and even called it “OP.” While Fortnite added a lot of different game-changing items with Season 6, like bones, mechanical parts, makeshift weapons, and more, players also got a chance to try out a new Cuddle Fish item. While most fish-based items in the past have to deal with health, this one damaged others. What makes this item even more deadly is that you can set it on the ground and then it will explode when players get near it, similar to C4 and claymores in other shooters. Now, SypherPK has revealed a strategy that some people are employing with the item in the community and it’s pretty deadly. In a brand-new video, the YouTuber shows off just how overpowered the new items can be. Essentially, if an enemy is boxed in with wood or brick walls (meaning they are completely surrounded, including a roof), and then place a bunch of Cuddle Fish on top of it and then shoot one, it can cause “instant-death” as SypherPK calls it. What’s apparently happening is that the Cuddle Fish that you shoot destroys the first barrier, which then sends a the other ones falling down and explode on the player. As shown in the video, depending on the health of the enemy and the amount of fish that you put down, you can pretty much instantly kill them. The only downside to this is that it doesn’t seem to work against metal structures, as they are a bit too tough for the Cuddle Fish to get through. That being said, if they are behind wood or even brick, they’re toast. All in all, it’s a pretty interesting strategy but given how deadly it can be, it may only be a matter of time before Epic nerfs it. Only time will tell if that actually happens, though.

SypherPK uncovers overpowered Fortnite one-shot combo with Venom’s mythic – Dexerto
SypherPK uncovers overpowered Fortnite one-shot combo with Venom’s mythic Epic Games / Marvel / SypherPKSypherPK always finds new and exciting ways to spice up Fortnite’s gameplay, and in his latest video, he showed players how to do an impressive one-shot combo with Venom’s mythic. Fortnite Season 4 is coming to an end, but it hasn’t stopped Epic Games from releasing new skins and characters. However, it’s hard to find one more intimidating than Marvel’s infamous anti-hero, Venom. Venom was added to the game in the patch 14.60 update, and since then, players have used him to wreak havoc on the battlefield. In addition to looking fantastic, players can also find his mythic, Smash and Grab, across the map. Like the name suggests, his ability grabs his opponents and pulls them towards you. It also deals a decent 50 damage in the process. However, its real power lies in its versatility. SypherPK is always looking for new tricks to give himself an edge in Fortnite. However, he’s also very open about sharing them with the community and discussing other game elements. In his latest video, he shared an overpowered combo he figured out with Venom’s mythic ability. He claims it will undeniably give Fortnite players “guaranteed free eliminations.” The first trick involves pairing Venom’s ability with anything that “gets you up in the air and prevents you from taking fall damage.” In the video, he everything from Tony Stark’s gauntlets to bouncers and crash pads. Then, it’s as simple as using pulling an enemy in mid-air and sending them crashing into the ground. If you time it correctly, there’s no way players can escape the fall damage, and they should die in one hit. The second trick involves using Venom’s ability on enemies moments before walking into a rift. If done correctly, it will pull them into the air with you without giving them a safe descent. Instead, they’ll fall from the skies and into their inevitable death. SypherPK’s tricks are always incredibly useful, and these aren’t any different. The second trick with Venom’s mythic ability is much harder to do than the first, but it’s also more effective. However, it’s also essential to keep in mind that enemies can still shoot while they’re falling. If you manage to pull either one of the tricks off successfully, you’ll still need to try and dodge bullets against more skilled opponents.

SypherPK uncovers crazy Fortnite flying trick with Iron Man’s mythic – Dexerto
SypherPK uncovers crazy Fortnite flying trick with Iron Man’s mythic Epic Games / YouTube: SypherPK[jwplayer kQAVn1Ly] With the dawn of Fortnite Season 4, we’ve seen a number of changes come to the battle royale game. One, though, is a new movement mechanic that Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has discovered, that allows players to basically fly across the map. Chapter 2, Season 4 launched on August 27, and has been named ‘Nexus War,’ with a lot of Avengers-themed action, including cosmetics and POIs, for fans to sink their teeth into. Obviously with so many changes, new methods for getting kills and traversing the map have arrived in the game — and in typical Sypher fashion, the man himself has found a way to basically fly across the map using some of the new items. Iron Man trick in Fortnite discovered If you’re ever looking for new ways to do things in Fortnite, or any game for that matter, Sypher is one of the first people you should go to, with his knack for finding little secrets in the game. Now, this one is bound to help you get out of some sticky situations — but you’re going to have to make sure you’re prepared for it, because you need a few specific items. What you need is at least one of a Crash Pad, a Pepper and Iron Man’s Repulsor Gauntlets. As you can see in Sypher’s video, a combination of these three things makes rotating and traveling around the map significantly easier. He places the Crash Pad down, consumes the Pepper, swims towards the Pad and then uses Iron Man’s Repulsor Gauntlets to fly onto the Crash Pad. With the combined movement speed buffs, you can literally fly across the map, with Sypher himself reaching past Salty Springs from the Gas ‘n’ Grub north of Lazy Lake. Timestamp at 0:58 in the video below. If you get this right, the possibilities with it are endless. You can use it to get yourself out of a sticky gunfight that you’re not confident in, and it would be super helpful when you find yourself battling with the storm as it closes in on you. Obviously, it’s quite situational, and isn’t something you’ll likely be equipped to do most of the time, but it’s worth knowing that you can plan rotations and getting around the map on this if the items are available to you.

SypherPK shows that traps still have a place in Fortnite with incredible Victory Royale – Dexerto
SypherPK shows that traps still have a place in Fortnite with incredible Victory Royale SypherPK has proved that traps can still be a game-changer in Fortnite, after using them in a very strategic way to pick up an epic Victory Royale. The popular streamer, who creates content for Luminosity gaming, sealed a win by using the spike traps in a very creative way. There has been talk about how Epic Games potentially should look at introducing more traps into the game as the current ones have been around for quite some time, but SypherPK’s idea to create a trap tower just goes to show that they can still be as deadly as ever. The incredible play, which was posted to Reddit on January 13, shows a 1v1 on Fortnite at Titled Towers at the very end of the game. His opponent – Elite Agent [344] – tried to hide inside one of the buildings, but with the storm closing in on the pair, Sypher headed towards the bottom of a tall structure which has a jump pad placed at the bottom of it – something he prepared earlier. As he jumped inside the tower and landed in the top left corner at the top, to evade all of his traps, the player ran behind him in search of the victory. But, little did they know that the jump pad was going to fire them towards a whole tower’s worth of spikes. “I haven’t seen a kill like this in months” one Reddit user said, with another giving Sypher the title of “trap king” after this brilliant victory.

SypherPK slams Fortnite stream sniper after finding “failed” YouTube channel – Dexerto
SypherPK slams Fortnite stream sniper after finding “failed” YouTube channel Twitter: SypherPKAli ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has slammed a Fortnite stream sniper and threatened to copyright strike his YouTube channel after he stumbled on his content and scoffed at the idea of him using other people’s POVs. SypherPK doesn’t get worked up often. He’s usually cool, calm, and collected, especially in the heat of battle on Fortnite. But everyone has their limit. Hassan stumbled upon a stream sniper’s YouTube channel filled with videos of him battling against other streamers. However, his biggest gripe was all the videos showed battles from their perspectives. “The entire YouTube channel is just stream sniping people,” he said. “This guy runs into a YouTuber every single match. Also, he’s using their POVs because he’s not f**king recording because he’s a f**king failed YouTuber.” It’s one thing to insult the stream sniper. However, he went a step further and threatened to copyright strike the stream sniper’s YouTube channel if he ever sees his own content on there. “Hey buddy, you use my POV, you’re getting copyright-striked. You better have your POV of me sh*tting on you because if you use my POV, that’s a problem. We’re going to have a problem. You’re going to be gone. “Now, if you want to keep your YouTube channel, don’t use my footage without consent. I don’t give you consent.” Stream sniping is universally frowned upon in the Fortnite community. But unless it happens during a tournament, there’s nothing inherently ‘wrong’ about it. It isn’t against the rules or anything. However, uploading other people’s content on YouTube without permission amounts to copyright infringement. If SypherPK or any of the other streamers press the issue, the stream sniper will almost certainly find himself in hot water.

SypherPK reveals tips on how to master Fortnite Zero Point Crystals – Dexerto
SypherPK reveals tips on how to master Fortnite Zero Point Crystals Epic Games / SypherPKFortnite Season 5 now has a new teleporting feature thanks to the new Zero Point Crystals, and SypherPK has shared some must-know tips to help you master it. As one of the most popular Fortnite content creators, many players look to SypherPK to offer advice and tips on how to master Epic’s online multiplayer battle royale – and he’s delivered once again with advice on making the most of the new teleport ability. One of the biggest map changes in the game’s Season 5 update was the introduction of a new crystalline sands area right in the middle of the action. As well as letting players sink and hide, the area brings a new item called Zero Point Crystals. During his December 3 video, SypherPK argued that “everyone is sleeping on the Zero Point Crystals” and offered up several reasons why they can actually be one of the most useful items to collect in Fortnite Season 5. He explained that if you destroy crystals near the Zero Point and consume the small parts that scatter, you can perform a crystal-dash that lets you effectively teleport a short distance in any direction – even upwards if you need to get some height. The crystal-dash is performed by double jumping and facing the direction you want to travel. Once you’ve consumed a crystal, you’ll have the ability for 30 seconds. It might seem like a small thing, but it could be a game-changer for getting out of tricky situations. “If you really master the movement of the crystals, you can be very difficult to pin down and you don’t even have to build,” SypherPK explains in his video. “You can just be constantly flying around your opponent.” Topic starts at 1:30 While you can’t use the crystal-dash to move through solid surfaces or buildings, SypherPK discovered an exploit that lets you teleport through even a tiny gap in another player’s builds and dive into their box. It’s tricky to pull off, but rewarding when it works. SypherPK reveals the 3 worst things about Fortnite Season 5 – Dexerto
SypherPK reveals the 3 worst things about Fortnite Season 5 SypherPK / Epic GamesFortnite streamer Ali “SypherPK” Hassan has shared his three least favorite things about the Season 5 update, including the vaulting of a popular weapon. Season 5 of Epic’s popular battle royale Fortnite has proven to be a hit with players. The introduction of The Mandalorian and Kratos cosmetics, as well as a revamped map that merges old and new, have helped make the game feel fresh and exciting again. But as with any update or new release, there are bound to be aspects that players don’t like. During a Fortnite match with Ninja, CouRage, and Dr Lupo, popular streamer SypherPK was asked to reveal what he thinks are the three worst things about Season 5, and he shares similar frustrations that the wider fanbase has voiced. “I love this season, but if I had to pick my three worst things that I don’t like in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5, the lack of the Pump Shotgun would be [number] one,” he said. The Pump Shotgun was a popular weapon among Fortnite players, but it was relegated to the Vault at the start of Season 5. Fans have been campaigning on social media for Epic Games to add the weapon back ever since. While the removal of the Pump Shotgun is definitely a disappointment, there’s a new shotgun on the scene in the form of The Dub – we’ve put together a guide to claiming the new Exotic shotgun for yourself. SypherPK continued with his second and third worst things about Season 5, explaining, “It’s really hard to upgrade weapons, I think the upgrade system needs to be revamped. “And I still think there’s not enough action on the map. There needs to be more action.” Topic begins at 01:05 Despite disliking those elements of the update, SypherPK explained that overall he’s a big fan of Season 5 and even went as far as to claim that “Old Fortnite is back” thanks to the revamped map and a surge of players returning to the game. “Honestly, the vibes have been great lately,” he said. “A lot of OG streamers have returned to the game, Tilted Towers is back sort of, and even Double Pump has made somewhat of a return.” We’re well into Season 5 now, but there’s still plenty more to come, including a rumored Halo skin and more challenges on the horizon — keep up to date with the latest news with our dedicated Fortnite hub.

SypherPK reveals the best landing spot in Fortnite Season 5 – Dexerto
SypherPK reveals the best landing spot in Fortnite Season 5 SypherPK / Epic GamesSypherPK is often the first to find the latest tips and tricks in Fortnite, and in his latest video, he revealed what he thinks is the best landing spot in Fortnite Season 5. Fortnite players have different tastes and preferences when it comes to landing spots. Some want to hot drop into chaos right out of the gate. Others want to land somewhere safe. Fortunately, Fortnite Season 5 has many different landing spots, including Salty Towers, Dirty Docks, and the classic Retail Row. They all have their strengths and weaknesses, but the most important thing is that there’s a place for everyone. Still, players often discuss which places they think are objectively better than others. It usually comes down to things like how many chests are in the area or the loot quality. However, Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan believes there’s one place that rules them all. SypherPK sends his character hurling towards the Zero Point in the middle of the map. But instead of landing nearby, he goes inside. “When you go into the Zero Point, this happens,” he said. His character vanished, and the screen turned into a blue wormhole. “This is actually the first time I’ve ever been through the Zero Point,” he added. “You get 50 shield, and you get thrown down here.” The extra shield is a handy boost to start off with, but that’s not all. There are still some treasure chests to plunder. The Zero Point sent him floating down into the barren wasteland below. It has large jagged rocks, purple crystals, and some decent loot. “Underneath, ladies and gentlemen, there’s three chests… and a bunch of extra loot,” he said. “And let’s say, for example, you didn’t get any shields for that, you can just come right up here after this, and there is always gonna be a Slurp Truck here,” he said. He walked over a dune and towards a van down by the river. “And there’s more loot around the way.” It’s not really a secret since it’s right in the middle of the map. Plus, the center has always been a hot spot, which will probably put some players off. Still, SypherPK is adamant that it’s the best spot to land in Fortnite Season 5, and he’s made a pretty good case for it.

SypherPK reveals secret buff to Fortnite’s superpower abilities – Dexerto
SypherPK reveals secret buff to Fortnite’s superpower abilities SypherPK/Epic GamesPopular Fortnite content creator SypherPK has revealed that Epic Games might have made a mistake with Siphon Squads, giving the mythic superpowers an unannounced buff. [jwplayer so0eN9Pk] At the start of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4, a number of Marvel heroes and villains descended on the battle royale island to prepare for their impending fight against Galactus. As a result of their arrival, Fortnite has become awash with all sorts of Marvel references – be it through cosmetics, points of interest, or in-game challenges. Though, the biggest addition has been the mythical superpowers. These superpowers are obtainable by taking down the hero, or villain, that they usually belong to. Getting your hands on one won’t typically guarantee a victory, but, there might be a different story in Siphon Squads. During his November 15 video, Sypher pointed out that if you drop into a Siphon Squads game, the mythic superpowers actually act as if they’re still inside the Marvel Knockout limited-time mode. According to Sypher, when playing Siphon Squads, the Doctor Doom bomb will do 90 damage instead of its usual 60. On top of that, the Doctor Doom gauntlets do 45 damage instead of 35. Iron Man’s Unibeam ability has also seen an uptick in power too, all the way to dealing 150 damage. “In this game, I found a Unibeam and I just started one-shotting everybody in the lobby. 150 damage is insane in a game mode like this,” Sypher added. As for the other abilities in-game, neither Wolverine or She-Hulk drop their abilities in Siphon Squads mode, so they don’t see a drastic improvement. The change to Doctor Doom and Iron Man might have been intended by Epic specifically for the mode, but given that they’ve gone unannounced, it might surprise a few players. Though, if it’s a mistake, the devs will likely roll them back to normal sooner rather than later.

SypherPK reveals how to find the Galactus Gun in Fortnite – Dexerto
SypherPK reveals how to find the Galactus Gun in Fortnite SypherPK/Epic GamesPopular Fortnite content creator SypherPK has revealed just what you need to do to get your hands on the new “rarest” weapon in Fortnite – the Galactus Gun. Just like any other Fortnite season, Epic Games shook up the weapon and loot pool at the start of Chapter 2 Season 4 – though, the Marvel theme for the season means that there are plenty of spicy ways to fight enemies. You can wield the powers of heroes like Iron Man and Thor as well as the villainous Doctor Doom, and Silver Surfer. On top of those, as Galactus gets closer and closer to the map – and the impending Nexus War draws closer as well – you can also start to use the power of his minions with the game’s “rarest” weapon. How to get the Galactus Gun in Fortnite That’s right, the title of the “rarest” weapon in the current Fortnite season has been taken away from the epic variant of the Light Machine Gun and handed right to the Galactus Gun. Read More: Can you open Fortnite’s Helicarrier vault? – Why you might ask? Well, as SypherPK explains, you have to get your timing right and hope that the Galactus Drones don’t eliminate you from the game as you’re fighting them. If you manage to eliminate one of the smaller drones that are protecting the bigger drone, they will drop a small arm that can be used as a weapon. It doesn’t stick around on the ground for long, but if you’re quick enough, it will take over a spot in your inventory. Stay alive until the first circle closes – Look to the sky for a red light and go to where it lands – Fight the Galactus drones that are there – After defeating one of the small drones, quickly grab the Galactus Gun arm before it despawns – You will now have the Galactus Gun to use! – Now, while it might seem pretty easy to get, it’s not. The drones drop some high tier loot – including a gold RPG – so there will be other players fighting them most likely. Plus, you have to get the timing right on picking up the arm or it will despawn. If you manage to grab the weapon, you can’t build or swap to a different weapon in your inventory because you will be forced to drop it and then it cannot be picked back up again.

SypherPK reveals major flaws with Fortnite’s ‘secret’ February 5 update – Dexerto
SypherPK reveals major flaws with Fortnite’s ‘secret’ February 5 update SypherPK/Epic GamesFortnite content creator SypherPK has highlighted a few major issues with the recent February 5th update, with the performance mode changes putting some players at a disadvantage. Epic Games’ Fortnite battle royale became the most popular game around thanks to the devs’ constant updates, which helped make the game feel fresh every few weeks. In recent seasons, those updates have become few and far between. The devs have still been rolling them out, but the short seasons of Fortnite Chapter 1 have been replaced by longer dry spells in Fortnite Chapter 2. The updates are, of course, designed to make the game better and add new content, but sometimes they bring issues. In the smaller February 5 maintenance patch, Epic made changes to the Performance Mode setting that helps players on lower-end devices keep their FPS running smoothly in tricky situations. Read More: When is Travis Scott skin back in Fortnite? – However, as players like SypherPK have noted, it’s turned some walls into a blocky mess, and players cant see through them. “The visual block that it applies makes it kind of impossible to use in a pro competitive setting, and most of these players would rather not play on mobile graphics,” Sypher said. Additionally, Sypher noted that the change to the gold bar payout in competitive is “having a huge impact.” Epic upped the rewards for completing quests and bounties, and it’s allowing players to use Exotic weapons more in arena and competitive play, which wasn’t the case before. Upon complaints from players, the devs have noted that the change is an intended one. However, that has only prompted further backlash. Read More: Fortnite x Fall Guys crossover leaked – “Box fighting will legit be impossible,” said one player, while others added “revert performance mode,” and “rather have less fps than not see my builds.” In the past, Epic have shown that they’re willing to make changes when the community demands it – who can ever forget the Infinity Blade drama. However, striking a balance with performance mode might be a little trickier. We’ll have to wait and see.

SypherPK reveals his “wish list” for Fortnite Season 5 – Dexerto
SypherPK reveals his “wish list” for Fortnite Season 5 SypherPK / Epic GamesStar Fortnite content creator SypherPK has revealed in a recent interview the changes that he would like to see implemented in the battle royale’s upcoming Season 5, which is set to launch sometime in December 2020. [jwplayer uZppK6qI] Even though it feels like Season 4 launched yesterday, S5 is already a little more than a month away, if everything goes according to plan. It’s only a matter of time before players start getting leaks and official teasers about what’s going to be included in the next iteration. Currently, there’s next to no information about what’s coming, whether it be for the season’s theme, new features, etc. In anticipation of all the new content that’s on its way, SypherPK has revealed his short, albeit important, wish-list for the upcoming season. In a recent interview, Sypher said that, while he would love “more unique items”, one of the main things he’d like to see in Season 5 is “game-changing” features similar to what we’ve seen before. “In past Fortnite seasons, we’ve had implementations that really change up the game,” the superstar streamer said. “Like when they first introduced Reboot Vans, when they first introduced Siphon, fishing, vehicles, picking up players. “These are all very memorable changes that really shook up the game of Fortnite and made it better. We haven’t really seen big, significant changes like that in a while.” In addition, he also said that he wants to see a “revamped” competitive/ranked system in the game: “Arena, right now, feels like a glorified Pub with Siphon. It doesn’t really feel like a true ranked mode. I would like to see a true ranked mode in Fortnite.” One currently-existing system he would like to see tweaked is respawning, which involves players collecting their eliminated teammates’ cards and bringing them back to life via one of the many Reboot Vans located on the map. “I’d like to see some sort of mechanic where, when you get eliminated and thirsted, you have a second chance of coming back,” he elaborated. “I’d like to see a revamp of the Reboot system; core-changing mechanics to really shake-up Fortnite. It’s been a while since we’ve have some significant changes to really alter the pace of the game.” While it’s unknown what Epic has planned for Season 5, the developers have more than proved themselves to be capable of thinking outside of the box for Fortnite. Only time will tell, however, if this next installment satisfies SypherPK and the Fortnite player-base.

SypherPK reveals Fortnite Season 5 glitch that lets you float at Coral Castle – Dexerto
SypherPK reveals Fortnite Season 5 glitch that lets you float at Coral Castle Instagram: SypherPK / Epic GamesSypherPK has already found quite a few tips, tricks, and glitches in Fortnite Season 5, but none are as hilarious as this one at Coral Castle that lets players ‘float’ in the air. Fortnite Season 5 is well-polished, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t tricks and glitches that players can exploit. Game-breaking ones like being able to stay in the storm forever inevitably get patched. However, smaller ones are more difficult to iron out, and nobody finds them better than Ali ‘SypherPk’ Hassan. He’s shared many crazy tips and tricks in the past. Now, he’s at it again with a glitch that lets players ‘float.’ He showed it off in a recent video, and the results are hilarious. If you want to know how to do it, here’s a quick guide. How to perform the ‘float’ glitch in Fortnite Season 5 To begin, you’ll need to make your way to Coral Castle. It’s not a popular landing spot by any means. SypherPK has only landed there about five times in total himself due to the lack of loot. However, the float glitch makes it more compelling. Take note of what looks like a small pink pebble floating in the air. It’s difficult to spot at first, but once you’ve seen it in the video below, you’ll know what it is. Strangely, you can stand on it, even though it’s tiny. Build your way up and perch yourself on top of the pebble. Then, knock all the platforms down and stay up there, which creates the illusion of floating. It’s no cheap gimmick, though. It’s an excellent spot to rain down some bullets on unsuspecting foes, even if it leaves you a bit vulnerable. SypherPK managed to snag a bunch of eliminations while standing up there. He even managed to get a couple of early shots in and then swoop down on opponents while they were recovering. SypherPK’s ‘float’ glitch probably won’t win you a game. However, it looks like a lot of fun and will likely help you secure some easy eliminations. In the end, being innovative is a part of the game, and this glitch takes full advantage of that. Plus, imagine the look on your opponent’s face when they realize where they got shot from.

SypherPK reveals Fortnite Season 6 wishlist: AR buffs, attachments, more – Dexerto
SypherPK reveals Fortnite Season 6 wishlist: AR buffs, attachments, more Epic Games / Twitter: SypherPKSypherPK has enjoyed the meta in Fortnite Season 5, but now that he’s been at it for a couple of months, he has some ideas on what needs to be improved in Season 6. Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan knows Fortnite like the back of his hand. Players can’t get enough of the tips and tricks he comes up with, and he’s always quick to break down and discuss the latest leaks and rumors. However, his knowledge really shines during in-depth discussions about the current state of the game. Somehow, he always knows what works, what needs to be improved, and how it can be done. In a recent video, he talked about some issues in Fortnite Season 5 and how they can be improved in Season 6. Here’s what he had to say. Increase player cap and pacing “The first thing I think they should experiment with is the player cap and pacing of the matches,” he said. “I feel like if I’m not playing Arena, I’m not getting enough action in a single match, especially in public matches.” “I do feel like there is still a lot of AI that are running around, and I do feel like the games die out very quickly,” he added. “You start the match with 100 players, and before the circle closes, there are only 20 or less people left.” “I think there’s a lot of different ways they can keep the players alive in a match to make it feel more lively,” he said. “One option would be to add more players. If that doesn’t really work due to the servers… they should invest in figuring out ways to keep people alive longer throughout the match.” Assault Rifle Changes “The AK47 is so awful, in my opinion,” he said. “It is not a very inspiring assault rifle to use. You have the SCAR, which is the bread and butter. It works. It’s been there from the beginning… but the AK47 doesn’t feel right. It doesn’t feel like it fits, and I personally do not like using it at all.” “I think there are way more appealing and interesting assault rifle options,” he added. “Maybe they can come up with something new. Because now we have three different shotguns, but when it comes to assault rifles, you’re still pretty much stuck with just the SCAR.” Add Weapon and Vehicle Attachments “Hopefully, weapon attachments do come next season [and the] same thing with vehicle attachments,” he said. “Vehicles have been a little bit underwhelming ever since they removed the Quad Crasher.” “The cars that they added… are lacking a bit of actual usefulness. Aside from getting you from Point A to Point B, they’re not that useful in combat [and] on most surfaces. So, hopefully, these weapon and vehicle attachments come in and change things up.” SypherPK’s hopes and expectations aren’t too unrealistic and could be a welcome change. It will be interesting to see whether he was on the ball with his suggestions or whether Epic Games has other solutions in mind. Either way, Fortnite Season 6 is expected to start sometime soon. The Zero Point Battle Pass lasts until March 15, which means the next season could happen in the third week of March.

SypherPK reveals every major change Fortnite needs for Season 3 – Dexerto
SypherPK reveals every major change Fortnite needs for Season 3 Epic Games/Twitch: SypherPKFortnite streamer Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has outlined every major change he thinks Epic Games needs to make to the game in Season 3, as many Fortnite fans complain that the game is growing stale. With a growing number of Fortnite pros and content creators stepping away from Epic Games’ building battle royale, the pressure is mounting to implement a number of meaningful changes in the upcoming Season 3. Despite not yet leaving the game behind, Sypher has not been afraid to criticize the title for things he thinks could be improved. He has previously focused on SBMM and the issues it creates, and on April 18, he revealed an exhaustive list of things he wants to see altered. “First topic is gonna be performance,” he said. “We know that performance has been kinda weird lately. Increases in ping, FPS problems, lag, and people phasing through builds. My hope is that Fortnite has a lot of plans to improve performance.” He also called for a re-work to Arena mode, to incentivize players to grind Arena when there are not FNCS tournaments ongoing. This, Sypher argues, would make public matches far “less sweaty”. “The big thing, for me right now,” he continued, “is the pacing of the game.” He called on Epic to alter the game’s current build to allow people to stay alive for longer. Other creators, namely Ninja, have also highlighted the number of early-game deaths as an issue, arguing it leads to stale mid-game scenarios as players struggle to find enemies. Hassan argued that “more mobility” would aid these efforts, referring to numerous vehicles (e.g. Quadcrashers and Hoverboards) that Epic have in the vault that they could reintroduce. He also claimed that rifts or slip-streams would be useful to increase rotation mobility. Similarly, Sypher wants to see more healing consumables. Like vehicles, there are an abundance of healing items in the vault that Epic have removed. The 23-year-old name checked Slurp Juices, Chug-Splashes and Chug-Jugs as items that could return. A full list of changes Sypher called for is detailed below: Improve performance – lag, FPS stability, and reductions in ping – Re-work to Arena Mode – Increase mobility – vehicles, rifts and slip-streams – More healing items – Reintroduce traps with reduced damage (125 0r 100) – Bring back the Infantry Rifle – Remove C4 from competitive matches – Bring back old POIs (e.g. Tilted Towers) – Reintroduce “fun” consumables (Impulse/Shockwave Grenades & Boogie Bombs) – “The thing about Fortnite that makes it so great,” he finished, “is that they don’t even have to bring in new stuff – there are so many things that used to exist in the game that they could bring back that would make the game fun again… Other games don’t really have that advantage.” While a number of Sypher’s proposed changes relate to bringing back staples of older Fortnite, it would still be a pretty significant overhaul of the current game to see all of his changes implemented. Over to you, Epic.

SypherPK reveals 3 new “pay-to-win” skins for easy kills in Fortnite – Dexerto
SypherPK reveals 3 new “pay-to-win” skins for easy kills in Fortnite SypherPK / Epic GamesIn his latest video, SypherPK shows Fortnite players how to use three “pay-to-win” skins to camouflage themselves and get some easy kills. It’s one of the oldest tricks in the book, but it still works. SypherPK always finds the latest tips and tricks in Fortnite, and he’s at it again in his latest video. He figured out a way to use three skins to blend into his surroundings and catch his enemies off guard. It’s a simple trick that anyone can do, and it’s effective. The only catch, however, is that you’ll need all of the skins, as well as some accompanying emotes to make them work better. A little patience won’t hurt, either. Fortnite Lt. Evergreen Skin The first “pay-to-win” skin is Fortnite Lt. Evergreen. Don’t let its seemingly innocent appearance fool you. SypherPK shows that it can be deadly when used to blend into your surroundings. However, to make the most out of it, you’ll need to find the right spot, which is in Salty Towers. First, you’ll want to beeline for the blue house on the outer side. Look for loot either inside the roof or beneath the nearby Holiday Tree. Then, once you’ve got everything you need, position yourself underneath the Holiday Tree and use the ‘Light Up’ emote behind the trunk. If done correctly, you’ll blend in like a chameleon and be able to pounce on unsuspecting victims who pass on by. If you want to make it more effective, you can leave one or two chests underneath as bait to lure opponents in. You can also hide in various bushes around the map covered in Christmas decorations. The results are hilarious. Crackshot Skin The second “pay-to-win” skin is Crackshot. It works similarly by blending into some of the scenery around Lazy Lake. However, to make the trick work, you’ll also need the Prickly Pose emote. First, land at the house that has two Crackshot statues in the front yard. Grab some loot and eliminate anyone who is an immediate threat. Then, break one of the statues, stand in its spot, and use the Prickly Pose emote. It’s not perfect since it leaves you feeling vulnerable, and players with a keen eye will be able to scope you out. However, you’ll be surprised at how many run past, totally oblivious of their surroundings. Mystique The third and final skin is technically Snowmando, but since it’s not released yet, you’ll need to do a little workaround. First, you’ll need the Mystique skin, and the accompanying Shapeshifter emote, which lets you transform into other skins. Then, find and kill Snowmando in the bottom right area of the map and use the Shapeshifter emote to transform into him. Don’t forget to hold a Small Shield Potion to make it look more authentic. After that, all you need to do is sit back, relax, and trick others into thinking you’re the NPC. If you don’t act suspicious, it’ll work like a charm, and you’ll be able to secure some easy eliminations. We don’t condone using any of these strategies in a competitive environment, and Epic is likely to patch some of them out once the Winter update brushes over. However, for the meantime, it can be fun to pull off in casuals. Just be mindful of other players trying to do the same thing.

SypherPK reveals crazy Fortnite trick that turns players into mini airstrike – Dexerto
SypherPK reveals crazy Fortnite trick that turns players into mini airstrike Epic Games / Twitter: SypherPKIn a recent video, SypherPK showed Fortnite players how to turn themselves into a mini airstrike using the new Exotic Burst Quad Launcher mixed with some other key ingredients. Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan is the king when it comes to tips and tricks in Fortnite. He’s told players how to do everything from a glitch that lets you float at Coral Castle to mastering Zero Point Crystals. Now he’s at it again, and this time, he revealed another crazy Fortnite trick. But unlike others that are more about cheeky stealth plays, this one turns players into a mini airstrike. How to do the mini airstrike trick in Fortnite First, you’ll need to get your hands on the new Exotic Burst Quad Launcher. It is sold by or dropped by an NPC named Fishsticks. You can find him at either Coral Castle or Craggy Cliffs. If you decide to buy it from him, it will set you back 600 Gold Bars. However, if you choose to kill him instead, it will be yours for free. Next, you’ll need to find some Bouncers and Shockwave Grenades. Once you’ve got everything you need, the combination is relatively easy to do. All you need to do is place a Bouncer. Then, stand on the edge and throw a Shockwave Grenade as you walk onto the Bouncer, which will send you flying in the air. After that, all that’s left to do is whip out the Burst Quad Launcher in mid-air and rain down the fire on unsuspecting enemies. If you’ve done it right, you should be able to kill even the healthiest foes by the time you land. SypherPK pulls it off perfectly in the video below. The mini airstrike trick is relatively simple, but it’s effective, especially in the hands of a player as skilled as SypherPK. His opponent had no idea what was coming, and now you can do it to others, too. Read More: SypherPK reveals Fortnite Season 6 wishlist – Fortnite is all about doing everything you need to give you an edge over your opponent. Naturally, that means the element of surprise is often your best weapon, and nothing is more surprising than this trick.

SypherPK predicts exact location of Fortnite’s Atlantis POI – Dexerto
SypherPK predicts exact location of Fortnite’s Atlantis POI Epic Games / Instagram: sypherpk[jwplayer Puy4UiEa]Popular Fortnite content creator Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan thinks he knows exactly where the game’s highly-anticipated upcoming Atlantis point of interest will be on the map. While a number of Fortnite’s biggest names have made the switch to other titles, such as Call of Duty battle royale Warzone, Sypher has stayed loyal to Epic Games’ hit and has remained a go-to authority on all things Fortnite. That’s why, now he’s predicted where the Atlantis POI will be, fans and players are forced to listen, because he might just be spot on. Sypher first called that Atlantis will definitely become a POI once it became evident that Aquaman was getting involved in the game, with the DC Comics character getting his own skin. Now, as the map is slowly draining and the water levels falling, Sypher has found exactly where he expects Atlantis to be. In the upper-left corner of the map, west of Pleasant Park and north of Sweaty Sands, a huge whirlpool is forming. “This big whirlpool is big for a reason,” Sypher said in his July 18 upload. “I’m pretty sure, when the water fully drains, Atlantis is going to be here. This looks like the perfect spot for that POI.” Timestamp 3:04 Sypher does add that, while he knows nothing just like everyone else, he believes that Atlantis will rise above the water, rather than being partly or completely submerged in it. The prediction definitely seems possible: That is a huge space being taken up by the whirlpool, so it’s hard to imagine it won’t go on to be something much bigger and better, and could be the perfect spot for Atlantis to fill. There’s no telling when or even if the fabled Atlantis POI will join the Fortnite map, but if it does, all eyes will be on the north-west corner of the map, especially with Fortnite Season 4 set to kick off in August.

SypherPK or Ninja? Sypher explains who is better at Fortnite – Dexerto
SypherPK or Ninja? Sypher explains who is better at Fortnite LoadedTwo of the most popular Fortnite streamers and YouTubers, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan, are well respected for their in-game skills as well as being genuine entertainers. But Hassan thinks he’s got the upper hand now when it comes to his Fortnite ability. Although Ninja is inarguably the biggest name in Fortnite generally, still holding the record for most Twitch subscribers, viewers and followers, even after almost a year since he left the platform, it doesn’t necessarily mean he’s the best. Blevins himself would concede that many of the competitive professional players are likely far beyond his skills at this point, but in 2018, at the height of his Twitch popularity, many considered him the top dog. Tfue later came to take that crown, but in 2020, one streamer who has remained dedicated to Fortnite while others move on to games like Warzone or Valorant, is SypherPK. Speaking to Nadeshot and CouRage on their 100 Thieves podcast, Sypher was asked to compare himself to Ninja, in terms of their respective ‘peaks’ in the battle royale game. “At Ninja’s peak, compared to others, he reached a much higher level, if you put him on a list of the top players,” SypherPK started. “But, at my peak, mechanically speaking, being able to edit, built, aiming wise, I reached a higher skill-caliber than Ninja. […] So, at my peak, I was a better Fortnite player, but at his peak, he was higher up than me.” Topic starts at 50:00 But, Sypher did clarify that even as Ninja doesn’t play as much Fortnite these days, there are now countless players that are better than both of them. Sypher makes the claim that Ninja was in fact top 5 or top 10 at his peak. CouRage then wanted his own ranking, this time vs TimTheTatman, and Sypher courteously picked CouRage as the better player. “You get real sweaty at one point – especially close to the World Cup,” he said of Dunlop’s skills. Sypher himself might be getting dragged away from Fortnite, thanks to Ubisoft’s new battle royale Hyper Scape, which he said he’s been loving in its beta release.

SypherPK outlines major changes Fortnite needs if no-building mode stays – Dexerto
SypherPK outlines major changes Fortnite needs if no-building mode stays SypherPK/Epic GamesTwitch star SypherPK explained some changes Epic Games could bring to no-building Fortnite that would help its long-term success. Fortnite has seen a massive influx of new and returning players since Epic Games made the drastic decision to remove building from the game. OG’s of the shooter, like Ninja, have returned, along with long-time doubters of the game, like Dr Disrespect, who completely changed his mind on the Battle Royale after the changes. Although many players and streamers are enjoying the no-building mode, SypherPK explained that if Epic wants these changes to be permanent they’ll have to make some major improvements. SypherPK wants no-building changes in Fortnite The 25-year-old streamer put out a video on March 24 titled, “The End of Building” where he revealed his thoughts on Epic’s changes to the game. While he celebrated the new infusion of players into the game, he pointed out some problems that removing building has presented. “In its current state, without building, there are some things that feel missing from the game. The map, and the concept of Fortnite, is so designed around building. There are hills and buildings you can’t really travel up without builds, and the utility in the current loot pool, there’s not enough items to justify zero builds.” Sypher pointed to the lack of a bubble shield and grappler in the current version of Fortnite, and said the game could benefit from the return of some of these utility items. Timestamp of 3:10 He also said that removing building permanently would be a “death sentence” for competitive Fortnite, and make it “very boring” for players overall. Despite that, Sypher said he was “shocked” at how much he’s enjoyed no-building Fortnite as much as he has. He capped off the video with his final verdict on the changes: “I think in its current state it’s not ready, but I think Fortnite and Epic should look into improving it and making it a more permanent part of the game.”

SypherPK lashes out at Fortnite stream snipers for ruining YouTube videos – Dexerto
SypherPK lashes out at Fortnite stream snipers for ruining YouTube videos Twitch: SypherPK/Epic GamesPopular Fortnite streamer Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has hit out at stream snipers ruining his Fortnite gameplay videos, describing them as “degenerate losers”. When it comes to Fortnite, there are very few top tier streamers who continue to play Epic’s building battle royale exclusively. Tfue and CouRage have started streaming Warzone frequently, while Ninja has been spending increasing amounts of time on Valorant. Sypher, one of the few remaining stalwarts of Fortnite, shocked his followers when, on July 25, he said he’d be investing more time in the aforementioned Warzone. His reasoning for the switch was that content would be “minimal”, but he confirmed he would continue to grind Fortnite to acquire daily gameplays for his YouTube. While playing Fortnite on stream to get these YouTube gameplays, Sypher encountered multiple stream snipers in one game, which he eventually went on to win. However, it seems that the snipers struck a chord with the Fortnite pro because, once the game had been won, he hit out at the players in question, referring to them as “degenerate losers,” as he issued a stern response. “Every little punk kid who tried to stream snipe me that game to ruin my video,” he said. “You are the most degenerate loser – all of you combined. The skill level, not even close to me. I destroyed you – manhandled every single one of you.” He continued: “Whether I was at a health disadvantage, or a weapon disadvantage, or a material disadvantage, I destroyed every single one of you, and you will never be as good as me you little dirty stream snipers!” Sypher then began to channel the frustration into fuel, hyping himself up as he began to search for another lobby. While he did not cite stream snipers as a reason for his move towards Warzone, it certainly seems that they are able to get under his skin. Warzone, of course, has its own issues – namely hacking. Whether Sypher sticks with Fortnite off the back of the anger it caused him remains to be seen, but you can catch him on his Twitch channel regardless of what game he’s streaming.

SypherPK hopes Fortnite traps return in Season 6, but with some changes – Dexerto
SypherPK hopes Fortnite traps return in Season 6, but with some changes Epic Games / SypherPKSypherPK was once known as the trap king in Fortnite, and although he understands why they were vaulted, he hopes they’ll return in Chapter 2, Season 6 with some changes. Traps once played an essential role in Fortnite. They were a creative, innovative, and versatile tool, and before they were nerfed and eventually vaulted, they dealt an absurd amount of damage. However, it’s hard to find someone who used them better than Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan. Formerly known as the trap king, he would find all these incredible and crazy ways to eliminate players using traps. Still, even though they were his speciality, he understood more than anyone why they needed to be vaulted. However, as Season 5 wears on, Hassan explained that he doesn’t want them gone forever and hopes they’ll return to the game but with some changes. “I loved using [traps], especially because when a player wants to rush into your box without thinking, you can throw [one] down, and they’ll run into it,” he said. “You’ll get a really easy quick elimination.” “But it started becoming a problem,” he added. “People would panic and throw a bunch of traps down, and [they] did a lot of damage. Before they got vaulted, they were doing 150 damage.” “Another problem [was], let’s say you got somebody weak, and they immediately threw down a trap before they died,” he said. “Even though you got the kill, you end up walking into their trap and dying or being severely hurt, and you feel kind of cheated.” “So even though it was my all-time favorite weapon… a lot of times, it was just a spam fest,” he said. “Especially once they implemented auto trap placement, which made it very cheesy. Overall it was way too powerful and caused a lot of frustration.” “I really do hope they eventually come back. I do miss trapping people. It was one of my favorite things to do in Fortnite. [However], if [they] were to return, [players should need to] place the wall then place the trap. Also, if [they] end up dying, [the] trap should be disabled. SypherPK knows Fortnite like the back of his hand, which makes him the perfect person to comment on these issues. His ideas on how to make traps less overpowered seem reasonable. Only time will tell whether Epic Games decides to give them a test run once again. However, it could be an ace up their sleeve and an excellent way to turn the meta upside down if it ever needs it.

SypherPK believes NPCs have ruined Fortnite shotguns in Season 5 – Dexerto
SypherPK believes NPCs have ruined Fortnite shotguns in Season 5 Epic Games / SypherPKSypherPK isn’t a fan of the current state of Fortnite shotguns in Season 5, and believes it’s because players can only upgrade low-tier shotguns they’ve collected into better ones at certain NPCs across the map. Fortnite is in pretty good shape in Season 5. It’s packed with tons of new content, the meta is balanced, and the gameplay is still incredibly fun. However, that doesn’t mean it’s perfect. Everyone has their criticisms and qualms. Some players might not like the latest map changes, which keep on coming. Others want their favorite vaulted weapons to make a comeback. Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan doesn’t mind all that. He’s pretty content with where the game is at. However, in his latest video, he confessed that he feels like shotguns are in a bad state right now and explained why. “I’m not a fan of the current state of shotguns,” he said. “I love this season, and I’m having a great time playing the game, but I’m really not a fan of how the shotguns are this season, and there’s a good reason why.” “[It’s] because of the way upgrades are being handled right now,” he added. “You upgrade your weapons using gold at certain NPCs, right? So, already there’s a bit of a problem because the amount of NPCs that can actually upgrade your weapons is a lot less than the [number] of upgrade stations that existed.” “Not every single NPC can upgrade your weapon. Actually, most NPCs do not upgrade weapons for you,” he said. “This upgrade stuff is relevant is [because] a Green Tactical Shotgun is not the strongest gun. It’s not that reliable.” “But a Purple Tactical Shotgun or a Gold Tactical Shotgun goes pretty hard,” he added. “I think they’re very strong, reliable guns. The problem is, in a lot of games, you don’t get the opportunity to upgrade even if you have gold.” “I think every single NPC should give you the option to upgrade your weapons,” he said. It’s a simple solution that will make it easier for players to get their hands on better shotguns, which will make them more viable. “The removal of upgrade stations was a strange decision,” he said. “At first, I was okay with it because I thought every NPC was going to give you the upgrade option, but that’s not the case.” SypherPK believes it’s a reasonable suggestion, and his fans seem to agree. He also thinks bringing back the Pump Shotguns will make a difference too, and is confident they’ll be back later on in the year. In the end, shotguns have always been a popular weapon choice in Fortnite. It’s important to keep them relevant, even if it means making NPC upgrades more abundant.

SypherPK hits back after Fortnite players blame him for SBMM – Dexerto
SypherPK hits back after Fortnite players blame him for SBMM YouTube: SypherPKPopular Fortnite streamer Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has responded to backlash after players blamed him for the re-introduction of skill-based matchmaking in Fortnite modes. Skill-based matchmaking, or SBMM, has been a hotly-debated topic within the Fortnite and wider gaming communities for some time now, with some believing that it makes sense to play against others on your level, while many feel that it makes more sense to have a wide range of abilities in the lobby at once. That said, Sypher spoke out about how the removal of SBMM in Squads meant a lot of players ended up facing AI, or “bots” in their matches, and now that it appears the feature has been re-implemented, he is being blamed for the change. Although Sypher has been a strong advocate for the removal of SBMM since it was first brought into the game, many took his recent comments to mean he wants skill-based matchmaking back in the game – and things got a little hairy. After rumors surfaced that it was put back into Squads modes shortly after being removed, players started using the hashtag #F**kSypher to express their dismay not only at the decision, but at Sypher for allegedly supporting it. Now, the creator has responded, saying that he was “shocked” at the amount of AI in lobbies (between 60-90%) and that he thought the figure shouldn’t be that high. He finishes by asking people to “please put down the pitchforks,” clearly surprised by the backlash he received. To those tweeting.. #fucksypher I’m one of the most outspoken people who wanted SBMM changed so the game can be more relaxed and enjoyable. Very strange of you to think that I wanted it back in the game. There was too many AI (60-90% of the lobby) that was the only thing wrong. pic.twitter.com/rl1lTyFP55 — SypherPK (@SypherPK) May 12, 2020 Of course, while many fans were angry at Sypher and Mixer star Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins over the discussion they had regarding SBMM and AI, some were more level-headed. Yet, the fact that the hashtag was trending speaks volumes of how some fans feel about this style of matchmaking. Whether the Fortnite players airing their grievances about Sypher will forgive him isn’t clear just yet, but this is likely to cause some discussion at Epic Games over what they should do about SBMM – especially when one of their most popular content creators is being chastised over it.

SypherPK explains why Fortnite’s pre-editing changes missed the mark – Dexerto
SypherPK explains why Fortnite’s pre-editing changes missed the mark Epic Games / YouTube; SypherPKAli ‘SypherPK’ Hassan was a big leader of the Fortnite pre-edit changes movement, trying to get Epic to change the mechanic. While they did follow through, the update wasn’t “what people were asking for,” according to the YouTube star, and more changes are needed. Pre-editing has been a contentious issue in Fortnite for some time. The setting has stunted players’ ability to build by the game saving where you were at, instead of giving you a clean slate. When you edit fast enough too, the game glitches out. Builds will sometimes not reset when prompted, and you can put yourself in a dangerous position by trying to fix things. The feature has long angered the community, especially top players, for restricting their creativity. SypherPK has been calling for its removal for over two years now. The YouTube star was elated when Epic finally announced changes on December 15. However, a week on, and Hassan believes they missed the mark entirely, and more needs to be done. “What Epic did was give us this setting — reset edits when entering build mode. So when you have this on… as soon as I swap out of build mode, it resets automatically [to a default build],” he said. “That kinda helps a little bit, but that’s really not what people were asking for and that’s really not what people understood from the patch notes.” There’s a reason why pre-editing can be downright horrible. While it affects every player, those with worse setups or higher ping struggle more. Same for those on controller, who have a little bit less control and flexibility. The changes are better, but not what they could be. “Pre-editing for higher ping players can be especially problematic. It can cause you to miss edits you would usually make, or accidentally pre-edit your builds. At least now if you pre-edit it automatically resets,” he admitted. He gave Epic exactly what players want — to just remove the option. Adding a toggle to remove pre-edits completely is what Sypher wants, and the community agrees with him. “I want to make this constructive. I know there’s a lot of feedback from competitive players who were really excited about this change and then realized it wasn’t the change we though we would be getting. We really just want the option to toggle off pre-editing completely.” Epic has listened though. They are adding a new setting in 2021 to remove pre-edits entirely, and it’ll be news to the ears of Fortnite players across the world. “We understand we missed the mark in adding an option to disable pre-edits in the 15.10. We know many of you find pre-editing unnecessary and would like a setting where you’re not able to edit a build until the build is in place. We plan to adjust the setting early next year,” they said. We understand we missed the mark in adding an option to disable pre-edits in the 15.10. We know many of you find pre-editing unnecessary and would like a setting where you’re not able to edit a build until the build is in place. We plan to adjust the setting early next year. — Fortnite Status (@FortniteStatus) December 16, 2020 Now, we’ll just have to wait. After almost three years of campaigning though, SypherPK has finally gotten his victory, and it’s going to be a sweet one once it’s finally added.

SypherPK has insane theory about Fortnite weapons and shields – Dexerto
SypherPK has insane theory about Fortnite weapons and shields Twitch streamer Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has an interesting theory about how the weapons and shields work in Fortnite. With Fortnite being so popular, it’s not too outlandish to think that Epic Games could be working behind the scenes to make things a bit more manageable for new players. The battle royale is coming up to its third birthday later in 2020, and there are still new players coming in daily. Obviously, those fans don’t stand much of a chance against the more seasoned veterans, so they could use some added bonuses if they want to hang around with the big dogs. SypherPK theorizes that something might be happening that gives bad players better loot, but admits this is quite the conspiracy theory. The Fortnite streamer says he doesn’t exactly believe this himself, but players should at least be open to the potential of it going on. “I shouldn’t say this,” he started. “Maybe entertain the idea that maybe if you’re stats are really good you have a less chance of getting better weapons and shields. I don’t think that’s the case, but like, we saw Activision patent something similar to that.” He does explain that Activision isn’t the same company as Epic Games, but that doesn’t mean this isn’t happening. “If they did that, it would make, you know, the majority of players happier because the majority of players don’t have good stats,” he continues. “I don’t know. That’s obviously a tinfoil hat level of conspiracy.” The patent Sypher refers to a 2015 filing by Activision where it’d encourage newer players to purchase microtransactions by matchmaking them into a lobby where whatever weapon or item they bought would perform well. Activision told Kotaku that this never appeared in any game. It’s unlikely Fortnite actually has a system like this, but apparently things have gotten so bad for some of the top players that Sypher thinks it’s time to start questioning some of the things going on with the game. With the onset of Chapter 2, Epic Games started to become a bit more sporadic when it comes to patch notes, so if something was implemented, it’s entirely possible it flew under the radar. Again, this is not very likely, but if you put on your tinfoil hat and start thinking, would it be unexpected?

SypherPK exposes new “pay-to-win” Bash Burner pickaxe in Fortnite – Dexerto
SypherPK exposes new “pay-to-win” Bash Burner pickaxe in Fortnite SypherPK / Epic GamesIn his latest YouTube video, SypherPK exposed Fortnite’s new “pay to win” Bash Burner pickaxe that swings at a faster rate, giving players a competitive edge. [jwplayer uZppK6qI] Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan is known for making videos about anything and everything within Fortnite. However, some of them involve in-depth discussions about items, weapons, and other elements of the game. His interest was piqued by one thing recently though: a new pay-to-win item. The Bash Burner pickaxe is a wooden baseball bat that is burnt two-thirds of the way. It also has two small branches sticking out, one of which has a flame. It might not look like the most ravishing pickaxe, but don’t let its simple appearance fool you. The Bash Burner pickaxe is currently the most overpowered harvesting tool in the game. “Ladies and gentlemen, there is a new pickaxe called the Bash Burner Pickaxe,” said SypherPK, while showing it off in-game. “It is faster than the other pickaxes. This has been tested and proved.” He then showcases a collage of six other pickaxe animations for a side-by-side comparison. The Bash Burner Pickaxe clearly moves faster than the rest. Its advantage does appear to fade over time. However, SypherPK explains that if you use it in a certain way, it won’t be an issue. “It does end up balancing out if you keep swinging,” he said. “However, if you’re just doing it for short bursts of swings, it’s actually the fastest pickaxe.” The new Bash Burner pickaxe has some strange, inconsistent animations – both faster and slower than normal pickaxes, at times. Reportedly disabled in competitive modes. Credit: u/Stache24 for testing this pic.twitter.com/c2fxid9Hl7 — Fortnite News (@FortINTEL) October 30, 2020 SypherPK obliterates a number of opponents with his phenomenal aim and composure. Then, he dusts himself off like it was nothing, and casually hops back into discussing the pickaxe. He admits it’s not the most broken item ever, but it’s small advantages like these that add up. “This isn’t even the most over-powered item that we’ve seen as a pickaxe that’s pay-to-win,” he said. “We’ve seen more overpowered things in the past.” SypherPK was referring to the infamous Star Wand, which used to deal 56 damage each swing and made players move faster when holding it. However, it only lasted a day or two before being removed from the game. Fortunately, the Bash Burner pickaxe isn’t as broken as that. Still, SypherPK doesn’t want to be responsible for encouraging people to buy it, because there’s always a chance it could get nerfed or removed too. But until that happens, it does have a competitive edge when used in short bursts. It’s probably not a bad idea to pick it up if you have the cash to spare. It does raise concerns about pay-to-win items being added to the game though, and it’s not something many players would be willing to embrace.

SypherPK explains why skill-based matchmaking ruined Fortnite – Dexerto
SypherPK explains why skill-based matchmaking ruined Fortnite Twitch: SypherPK/Epic GamesTwitch streamer and professional Fortnite player Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has slammed the current meta of Epic Games’ building battle royale, explaining how skill-based matchmaking is ruining public matches. As Fortnite approaches three years old, a host of its most prominent content creators are growing more critical of its current build. Among other things, Ninja has revealed he thinks it would benefit from incorporating CoD: Warzone features and bringing back the original Chapter One map. The frustration has seen a number of Fortnite creators moving towards other games, such as Call of Duty’s acclaimed BR, Warzone. Going off comments made in his April 1 stream, it seems like SypherPK is among those being pushed towards other titles. After dying to an opponent in a Fortnite public match, Sypher continued to spectate the enemy that vanquished him. He quickly realized that the player was hoarding materials, as well as playing incredibly defensively to try and secure the win. Prompted by his frustrations, Sypher began to criticize the current meta of Fortnite, facilitated by the controversial inclusion of skill-based matchmaking (SBMM): “With SBMM, if there’s not an aggressor in the game, aka someone who’s actually playing for kills, and not playing to win the World Cup, it always ends in a heal off.” As he continued to spectate the player, Sypher’s frustrations grew. In a second clip, he blasted the inclusion of SBMM in public matches, and explained how it is affecting Fortnite. “I hate SBMM so much,” he said. “I hate it so much. Not because of playing good players – because of the mentality and attitude that it promotes. Every pub game is like the World Cup qualifier.” He went on to explain the boring and negative playstyles players use in order to win matches: “Just because I didn’t farm the entire game like this guy did,” he said. “For 999 metal, wood and brick, I get held against storm and get shot at by three or four different people – it’s f**king insane.” After watching the player who killed him for a few minutes, the lobby did indeed finish in a ‘heal off’. However, the enemy that killed Sypher was then gunned down by the remaining player, whom Sypher cheered loudly and gifted subscribers to. Read More: Doomsday event coming soon in Fortnite? – While undoubtedly a funny moment, it relays a serious issue that many think Fortnite is suffering from at the moment. SBMM is a controversial topic in a number of games, but many argue it should not be in normal public matches, particularly if a game – like Fortnite does – also boasts a dedicated ranked playlist.

SypherPK explains why Storm’s Whirlwind is best Fortnite Marvel ability – Dexerto
SypherPK explains why Storm’s Whirlwind is best Fortnite Marvel ability Epic Games / Twitter: SypherPKAli ‘SypherPK’ Hassan is a big fan of Storm’s Whirlwind Blast ability in Fortnite, labeling the new Marvel mythic the best item in the game because of its offensive and defensive capabilities. Storm’s Whirlwind Blast is one of the latest Marvel mythic abilities to be added into Fortnite. It can be found in the Stark drones dotted across the map. While it might seem innocuous at first glance, it actually has a lot of power packed into it. The ability lets players spin into the air, knocking enemies back. However, it can do a lot more than just that, as SypherPK has demonstrated. Storm can use her abilities to reflect all kinds of projectiles, enemies, and even vehicles. However, it can block a deceptively large number of other Marvel mythic abilities too. She can use it to dodge Dr. Doom’s Arcane Gauntlet, and even Thor’s Mjolnir hammer strike. It blocks every single ability in the game but one — the Unibeam. Keep this in mind, as a well-timed Whirlwind can keep you in the battle. It’s more than just an ability that can be used to stop incoming fire though. About to take fall damage? Pop the Whirlwind near the end of your drop, and you’ll negate all the fall damage. The Whirlwind is also incredibly effective in build fights. As Sypher describes it, while most mechanics benefit the player when they are playing against worse enemies, the Whirlwind can be used to outsmart opponents that are better than you. “You can bait your opponent into falling for the storm fall damage. This works the best against good players, which is really cool, because usually these tricks work the best against bad players, but this works the best against good players who are willing to build fight you,” he said. He does this by building up high, then as the enemy comes to contest his box, he pops the Whirlwind, sending them off into the distance and falling off the build, making for an easy elimination. The Whirlwind also temporarily disarms opponents, giving you a chance to get the first shot, which is always crucial if they do survive the fall. With all these small little tricks, they add up into one powerful ability. However, Storm’s Whirlwind might not be the best item for long. With more Marvel mythic abilities being released regularly, it might not be long until another item takes its place at the top of Fortnite. For now though, if you find one, you should definitely look at using it.

SypherPK explains why popular Fortnite weapon was secretly vaulted – Dexerto
SypherPK explains why popular Fortnite weapon was secretly vaulted Epic Games/SypherPKFortnite content creator SypherPK has revealed that Epic Games have secretly vaulted a popular weapon ahead of Fortnitemares. [jwplayer so0eN9Pk] As the Fortnite seasons have unfolded, Epic Games have added plenty of content, be that in the form of map changes, new weapons, or new skins. However, they’ve also taken plenty of weapons away. This could be because they don’t fit the style of the season or because they’ve become too strong and need a bit of balancing. These weapons are vaulted and aren’t unvaulted until a little while later. These changes are typically announced, however, there appears to have been a secret vaulting in Season 4. That’s right, a secret vaulting. SypherPK pointed it out in his October 8 video, noting that the RPG has disappeared from the loot that drops after defeating the Galactus bots. “Here’s what’s going on, these things used to give you RPGs. For some reason, they do not give you RPGs anymore,” the YouTuber said. “Epic removed RPGs from these bad boys, randomly, and no ones really talking about it much. They’re completely gone, there’s no way to get an RPG in the game anymore.” It wasn’t just the one instance where Sypher didn’t get an RPG, though. He tried to find an RPG in another game and was unable to do so, even though the bots still dropped some ridiculous loot. Why is that case? Well, SypherPK suggests that it’s got something to do with Fortnitemares being just around the corner. He believes that Epic has simply taken RPGs away so that they can bring back the Pumpkin Launcher for the Halloween event. Of course, this seems like a pretty logical explanation and might clear up some doubt for players who were shocked that they’ve been gone. Though, it’d be a little easier to know what’s what if Epic dropped patch notes like they used to.

SypherPK explains why he’s swapping Fortnite for Warzone on stream – Dexerto
SypherPK explains why he’s swapping Fortnite for Warzone on stream SypherPK/Epic GamesPopular streamer and content creator Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has revealed that he’ll no longer be focusing on Fortnite full-time and will be trying his hand at Warzone. As Fortnite’s battle royale mode exploded in popularity, a number of streamers were propelled up the charts on Twitch, YouTuber, and other forms of social media. These include folks like Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney, and Ben ‘DrLupo’ Lupo. Even though Epic Games’ battle royale is still going strong, players have stepped away. Ninja, when he streams, splits time between Fortnite, Warzone, and Valorant, while Lupo can be found on Escape from Tarkov. SypherPK had been one of the last Fortnite-only content creators around, but he is finally shedding that tag by making Call of Duty: Warzone his “main focus.” On July 24, the popular streamer revealed that while he will still be making Fortnite videos for YouTube and playing the game, he will also be extending his reach elsewhere. Mainly, with Warzone. “I’ve been thinking about this a ton but starting tomorrow my main focus on stream is going to be Warzone,” Sypher tweeted, confirming that Fortnite will still factor into his content. However, that will be “minimal” as the wait for cars to be released goes on. I’ve been thinking about this a ton but starting tomorrow my main focus on stream is going to be Warzone. I Will still play Fortnite to record daily Youtube content but during these few weeks while we wait for cars it’s going to be pretty minimal. Time to become a beast. 👹 — SypherPK (@SypherPK) July 25, 2020 Fellow streamers like Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff chimed in and praised Sypher for making the move that has proven to be so successful for themselves. However, others flooded his replies and claimed that he might be making a mistake. Though, some pointed to the fact that at least content-wise, Fortnite is a little dry right now and needs an injection of something new to keep content creators going. https://twitter.com/NICKMERCS/status/1286874396049670145 Whether or not the move is the right one for Sypher remains to be seen, but, he clearly isn’t packing his bags and turning his back on Fortnite for good. Once Epic starts rolling out bigger updates than just the gradual map changes that they’re currently focused on, Fortnite should see plenty of content creators like Sypher make a return. Though, it might be hard to keep them around if they start making inroads elsewhere.

SypherPK explains why Marvel items are perfect addition to Fortnite – Dexerto
SypherPK explains why Marvel items are perfect addition to Fortnite Epic Games / Twitter: SypherPKAli ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has been critical of Epic and their development of Fortnite in the last year. However, he’s been singing the developer’s praises in Season 4, claiming this season is the most enjoyable in ages — helped by the Marvel items. Fortnite Season 4 has changed the battle royale drastically. Marvel heroes have descended onto the island to fight the Nexus War, and they’ve brought some pretty strong items with them. The Marvel Mythics are hard to get, but give players a huge reward for doing so — incredible superpowers to help win the game. This power came at the ire of competitive players, who said they were too broken to take into pro games. But for the casuals, they were a welcome addition to help freshen up the game. For SypherPK, that’s the number one thing he highlighted about the introduction of the mythics in Season 4. “These are strong abilities that change up the way you can play the game. It makes every match different and exciting without completely ruining the fun when you go up against them,” he said in a September 20 YouTube video. “Some of the people think these abilities are too powerful, but I think they have added a great change to the pacing of the game.” Not only that, but Hassan mentions the “diversity of the loot pool” is better than ever. It makes for a more enjoying casual experience — one that has brought the likes of Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins back to the battle royale. “Epic has brought things back like shockwaves, boogie bombs, and crash pads — we have a very healthy environment where you can move around the map freely, and there’s more opportunity for fights to happen.” However, the best move Epic could have made in introducing the potent items was keeping them separate from pro play. The Iron Man mythic has been vaulted, among others, and this means the pro meta isn’t thrown out by the seasonal changes. This change in balancing tactic has completely revolutionized Fortnite. “It’s rare when Epic makes a separation between competitive items and non-competitive items. They are now more willing to make the separation, whereas, in the past, they’ve been all about having the same items in arena and pubs. “You have all these changes balancing out the competitive side of the game without ruining the fun of the casual side of the game. This is a very important step.” Not only are the Marvel items bringing people back to Fortnite, but they aren’t ruining the competitive experience. It’s a win-win on all fronts, and SypherPK couldn’t be happier to see the content creators he once worked alongside flock back to Fortnite in droves.

SypherPK explains why he stopped making educational Fortnite videos – Dexerto
SypherPK explains why he stopped making educational Fortnite videos YouTube: SypherPKPopular Fortnite YouTuber and streamer Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has explained why he no longer makes educational Fortnite videos — and how he plans to bring them back in the future. While many top content creators moved on from Fortnite to the likes of Warzone, Rust, Among Us and more, Sypher was one of the top names who stayed loyal to the game. While he’s entertaining and a naturally gifted player, one reason players love to flock to his content is because he’s one of the smartest Fortnite players there is. He was always the go-to guy to learn how to become a better player, but sometime during Chapter 2, Season 4, he stopped: and now we know why. In a YouTube upload on February 4, Sypher explained the thinking behind his decision to stop creating educational content. He said: “The main reason for that is because a lot of the time, when I’m trying to record a commentary, I’m not getting enough quality fights in a solo match. It ends up being dry and very, very short.” He went on to say that his last couple of educational videos were only 8-10 minutes long, quite short and “kind of dry,” obviously not completely happy with the direction the content was going. Sypher did say, though, that he’s come up with a plan to bring back his educational videos in a different way, but refrained from giving away any specific details. One path he’s revealed he’ll take is by giving lessons to other players, rather than commentary over his own gameplay, starting with Australian Fortnite star Kathleen ‘Loserfruit’ Belsten. While the educational videos have been gone for a while, it definitely makes sense why, and a new style of educational content could be exactly what both Sypher and his viewers want to see.

SypherPK explains why he’s nervous about Fortnite’s “scary” v11.50 update – Dexerto
SypherPK explains why he’s nervous about Fortnite’s “scary” v11.50 update Epic Games / Twitch: SypherPKPopular Fortnite streamer Ali ‘SypherPK‘ Hassan has revealed that he’s nervous about the games upcoming v11.50 update, which is set to overhaul the game thanks to a brand-new engine. Epic Games surprised many on January 24 when they confirmed that Chapter 2, Season 1 would be extended past the original early-February release date, with the scheduled release now set for February 20. The biggest news though was the fact that Fortnite would be moving to Unreal Engine’s Chaos physics engine, which could see a monumental shift in the way the game is played and what it feels like. While many are excited about the prospect of playing on a brand-new engine and the new innovations it could allow the developers to add to the popular battle royale title, streamer SypherPK is anxious about the switch-over. While talking to his audience on stream, SypherPK started to break down the announcement from Epic Games, reading the news about the new engine before sharing his concerns ahead of the patch’s release. “Beginning with the release of the 11.50 update in early February, Fortnite will be moving to Unreal Engine’s Chaos physics engine,” he read. “At launch, the goal is to ensure that Fortnite still feels like Fortnite.” That’s a scary line. ‘The goal is to ensure that Fortnite still feels like Fortnite.’ That means it’s going to be a huge change to the fundamentals of the game. I’ve already seen some leaks of what the Chaos physics engine implies. I’ve been through games that have had major overhauls and it completely doesn’t feel like the same game.” What the Chaos physics engine could mean for Fortnite going forward remains to be seen, but a change of engine is a major occurrence and means the way the entire game runs will be completely changed, and could mean mechanics like building or shooting have to be changed to accommodate the way that Fortnite is now built. There is currently no official release date for the v11.50 update, but with Epic confirming that it will appear in early February, it’s possible we could see it as early as Tuesday, February 4.

SypherPK explains why Fortnite Season 6 updates need to make major changes – Dexerto
SypherPK explains why Fortnite Season 6 updates need to make major changes YouTube: SypherPK/EpicGamesFortnite star SypherPK has called on Epic Games to bring back the quality updates and slow down on cosmetic crossovers in Season 6, as fans want fresh changes to the battle royale. Over the last few years, Epic Games has blazed a trail in the battle royale market with the crossovers between Fortnite and pop culture. The battle royale has had music concerts, Super Bowl parties, and even movie showings in the last few months. Fortnite Season 5 has been all about the crossovers between the battle royale and different games, focusing mainly on the cosmetics side of things rather than adding new items. The previous season was a crossover season with Marvel, however, that introduced weapons and mechanics like superpowers – giving the game some quality updates. Sypher wants more of that when Season 6 rolls around, rather than just cosmetics. During his March 7 video, Sypher noted that the crossovers help Fortnite stand out – given that no one else is really following suit. Though, the recent updates haven’t been all that meaningful. Read More: When does Season 6 of Fortnite start? – “Hopefully, in Season 6, I definitely want to see this slow down just a little bit,” Sypher said about the crossovers. “I still want the collaborations, I think it’s time to shift the focus back towards the updates around the game. “I think it’s time for us to get back to really, really quality fortnite updates that change the gameplay – new items, new weapons, map changes – significant stuff like that.” The Fortnite star noted that while changing the weapon pool with vaulted weapons is cool, players want fresh stuff and new ideas, rather than just nostalgia for the season gone by – though that this welcome in portions. He also added that Chapter 2, Season has been “solid” but a return to the other updates is much-needed. It remains to be seen as to what Epic has in store for Season 6, though there are rumors that it’ll be another Season 4 Marvel-like crossover, this time with DC Comics.

SypherPK explains why Fortnite Season 3 could be “the best season ever” – Dexerto
SypherPK explains why Fortnite Season 3 could be “the best season ever” Twitter: SypherPK / Epic GamesAli ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has praised Epic’s recent changes to Fortnite, and is holding out hope for Chapter 2: Season 3, claiming the next big update could be “the best ever” for the battle royale. Epic have been widely criticized for how they’ve handled Fortnite since the start of Chapter 2. A lack of transparency, slow updates, and broken mechanics have turned some of the game’s most passionate supporters away. SypherPK led a plea to the developers to fix some of the game’s biggest issues just two weeks ago. Now, he’s singing their praises, as Epic has turned their attention to problems the community wants fixed. Their recent changes to Fortnite have been drastic. OP weapons like Heavy Snipers have been nerfed. More casual modes like Party Royale have been added. Controller aim assist has been toned down. All these and more has Sypher looking forward to possibly Fortnite’s “best season ever.” “I’m really excited for this new season, mainly because Epic has done a lot over the last few weeks to address some of the issues people have been facing from a casual and competitive perspective,” he said. Read more: How to watch Fortnite Party Royale – “I have a really good feeling about Chapter 2: Season 3. I have a feeling it could be one of the best seasons in Fortnite ever. I don’t know what it will hold. I really love this game, and I want to see it succeed, so I’m optimistic about next season.” Sypher pointed towards two changes that made him feel that way. First, it was the removal of skill-based matchmaking from Squads. Then, it was changing the competitive ruleset after pleas from pros. Both have improved the quality of the game dramatically for all players. “[SBMM being removed] means the game’s going to be a lot more casual, and a lot less sweaty,” he said. “As a YouTuber, I can get back to doing funny meme-style videos. The game’s are easier and less sweaty. “[In competitive] Epic had a problem with the elims being too rewarding, and people were complaining about this,” he added. “In a couple of days, Epic announced they were reducing the elimination points from four points to two so that it rewards players who play out a full game. “Epic were able to make a change pretty much immediately after receiving feedback from players — the communication is awesome, and they were really quick with their response. They’re listening, open to feedback, and they’re acting on what people are saying.” Related: Top 5 Fortnite in-game events While Sypher admitted there were still issues present — like the number of AI in lobbies only going up — he was relieved Epic had implemented some positive change into Fortnite. Other content creators like CouRage have joined the chorus of praise. Between that, and Fortnite’s player count skyrocketing to new levels, it looks like Epic may have finally righted the ship many believed had run aground for good.

SypherPK explains why competitive Fortnite’s momentum is slowing down – Dexerto
SypherPK explains why competitive Fortnite’s momentum is slowing down SypherPKFortnite’s competitive scene once had a lot of momentum, but now it’s slowed down to a stand-still for several reasons, and SypherPK explained why. Fortnite exploded into the competitive esports world, and it’s been in the mix ever since. But although it’s still alive and well, its momentum has slowed down quite a bit. Professional players like Benjy ‘Benjyfishy’ David Fish have expressed their concerns about the dwindling prize-pool. And one of the most popular players in the scene, William ‘Zayt’ Aubin, announced his retirement because he wasn’t having fun. The game is still incredibly popular. However, the competitive scene is in dire straits, and Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan explained why. Here’s what he had to say. “A lot of people recently have been saying that Fortnite competitive is dying,” he said. “I personally don’t think it’s dying, but momentum is slowing down. Something [needs to be] done to rejuvenate and re-motivate people, because… momentum is dwindling, and I can explain why.” “NRG Zayt, who is one of the longest-running pro players from back in the OG days, decided to retire,” he said. “He’s still been placing really well in tournaments, [but] he might have lost motivation because… the prize pool is extremely low compared to what it used to be.” “Another thing that has shifted is the fun factor,” he said. “Back in the day, content creators used to play tournaments for fun. You had people like CouRageJD and TimTheTatman playing. It drove viewership [numbers up]… even though [they] didn’t necessarily win. That doesn’t really happen anymore.” “Another [problem]… is the LAN tournaments,” he said. “For a good reason, we can’t have LAN events. But [they] drew more importance to them. People would be able to see competitors… and their reactions. We lost that, and we probably won’t get that back until 2022.” “[Some of] the most memorable… moments [revolved] around LAN events,” he added. “You get more attracted to the storylines of the players. It feels more important. Right now, there is not as much story involved.” “On top of that, when Epic Games is doing the live stream, they still use the spectator mode,” he said. “[It’s] laggy and choppy and doesn’t allow you to see the real skill that some of these players have.” In the end, though, SypherPK re-iterated his belief that competitive Fortnite isn’t dying. However, he is convinced that it’s momentum is at an all-time low and thinks it needs to pick back up again. Only time will tell whether that happens. Either way, Fortnite’s competitive scene isn’t as strong as it used to be. The signs are worrying, and if more players and viewers keep jumping ship, it will be interesting to see how Epic Games respond.

SypherPK explains why Fortnite fans should be excited for leaked “mod” attachments – Dexerto
SypherPK explains why Fortnite fans should be excited for leaked “mod” attachments Epic Games / Twitter: SypherPKSypherPK is looking forward to Fortnite’s leaked weapon and vehicle mod attachments, explaining why fans should be excited too and discussing all the possibilities. In December 2020, a reliable leaker, HYPEX, revealed that Epic Games had been testing out “Weapon Mod Slots.” It was a strong sign that weapon attachments could be added to the game. He doubled down on his claims in January 2021 and provided even more information about them, including the fact that there would be vehicle attachments, too. It’s hard to tell whether these rumored changes will come in the next chapter or a subsequent season. Either way, it would be an exciting and welcome change that will add more depth and complexity to the game. Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan is hyped up about the endless possibilities weapon and vehicle mods could bring. He talked about them in a recent video and explained why other Fortnite players should be excited, too. Here’s what he had to say. “I’m excited [because] currently, vehicles are a little bit underwhelming in Fortnite,” he said. “They do get you from point A to point B. But [many] cars don’t drive too well unless you’re driving on an actual road. The attachments and new tires that you potentially can put on these vehicles might be an interesting way to make the vehicles more powerful and more meaningful.” “Weapon attachments, like imagine the possibilities,” he added. “You have your core weapon attachments… from different games. Instead of having a silenced SCAR as an item in the game, you might be able to find a silencer and attach it to a weapon. This is just the core, basic mechanic.” “But we’re talking about Fortnite,” he said. “Fortnite sometimes goes with crazy attachments, and crazy updates, and weapons. Fortnite really likes to push the envelope. So, we might see things [like] fire ammo where you can put fire bullets in a gun, and when you shoot, bullets will light players and buildings on fire.” “You might be able to find an attachment like a Hop Rock attachment,” he said. “So, maybe exotic weapons will go away, and we might find attachments [that] turn normal weapons into exotic counterparts. “Maybe you can find an extended magazine for rapid-fire,” he added. “Maybe you can find an attachment that makes your gun shoot a little bit slower but is way more accurate. There are all kinds of different possibilities.” So, there you have it, folks. SypherPK is clearly excited about the rumored vehicle modifications and weapon modifications. He’s also done a good job of spreading the hype, which is warranted. They would forever change the game as we know it. Keep in mind, though, that nothing has been confirmed yet. There’s a strong possibility they will be added to the game, but nothing is truly confirmed until it is official.

SypherPK explains theory that next Fortnite season could start Chapter 3 – Dexerto
SypherPK explains theory that next Fortnite season could start Chapter 3 Gaimer / Epic GamesWith Season 5 of Fortnite Chapter 2 still having a ways to go before wrapping up, popular streamer and YouTuber, SypherPK, believes the battle royale’s next new season will actually kickstart Chapter 3. [jwplayer SZcHIYV1] Nobody knew Epic Games was planning on release a whole different chapter of Fortnite until Season X wrapped up and the infamous Black Hole event took place. Fast-forward to today, and the second chapter is not even halfway through its fifth season despite having started 18 months ago, while Chapter 1 managed to fit 10 full seasons in a span of 24 months. This is exactly why SypherPK, one of the game’s most well-known content creators, believe Epic will opt to just use the next season as the first one of Chapter 3, rather than S6. According to his calculations of the length of the Ch2 seasons so far – which have been considerably longer than Ch1’s – Sypher contends that another 10 whole seasons would take too long to fit in at this pace, leaving the game in an uninteresting state. “The timeline would push in the two-and-a-half to four-year range if we played out the rest of the seasons on this map,” he explained. “Chapter 1, the old map, took about 24 months to complete. Chapter 2, on the other hand, is already on 18 months. If we go through all the rest of the seasons until X, we’ll be on this chapter until 2023,” Sypher explained. “I feel like that’s a very long time. It could make things boring without having a full, fresh reset.” As with most other players, Sypher confessed to wanting to play on the old map once again but admitted that the likelihood of Epic bringing it back are slim, especially considering how much more this new map offers in terms of development possibilities that the first one doesn’t. He also pointed to Jonesy, one of Fortnite’s most iconic characters, undergoing a transformation that almost makes it seem like he’s turning into the iconic version that was first introduced when the battle royale was released. Could that be a teaser for the game’s plot heading backward rather than forward? Ultimately, Sypher came to the conclusion that seeing a brand new map in the near future is not probably but he does expect Epic to make some major changes to the current one, similar to how the old map was completely transformed from one season to the next. As for his prediction about Chapter 2’s length and Ch3 starting soon, it does make sense that having the current chapter go the full 10 seasons could be too big of a stretch since it would take nearly three years, way too long for the game’s notoriously impatient player-base. So, while we have to wait and see what the devs have up their sleeves, don’t be shocked if Chapter 3 comes by as soon as March.

SypherPK explains how to find Fortnite Season 4’s “rarest” weapon – Dexerto
SypherPK explains how to find Fortnite Season 4’s “rarest” weapon SypherPK/Epic GamesPopular Fortnite content creator SypherPK has revealed the “rarest” weapon in Season 4 and what you need to do to get your hand on it. With the start of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4, the battle royale was engulfed in the theme of Marvel and it’s Nexus War between Thor and Galactus. On top of many of Marvel’s most popular heroes descending on the battle royale island, Epic Games shook things up with the return of some classic weapons as well as some new points of interest for fans to explore. While many players have already got to grips with what the new season has on offer, there could be a shakeup if they follow SypherPK’s recommendation of trying to grab the “rarest” weapon in the game. How to get Fortnite Season 4’s purple LMG That weapon you ask? Well, it’s the epic variant of the Light Machine Gun, or LMG. The powerful weapon was initially introduced back in the v3.5.2 patch and has been in and out of Fortnite since. In Season 4, the only way to get it is at Doom’s Domain. Now, unlike Dr. Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets and Mystical Bomb, you don’t have to defeat the Fantastic 4 villain. Instead, you just have to take down the guards that are patrolling outside of the vault that sits under the soccer pitch at the POI. Take them down and at least one of them should drop the LMG. There is also an epic Tac SMG that could drop too. Land at Doom’s Domain – Head to the vault under the half-opened soccer pitch – Defeat the guards – Pick up the LMG and enjoy! – Given that Doom’s Domain is a popular spot anyway, you may face some stiff competition for the LMG. Even if you don’t, and enemies let you get by them, you do also have to worry about the mythical superpowers raining down from above. The weapon is also, apparently, found inside Rare Chests but you can guarantee one at Doom’s Domain. Just be careful no one beats you to it.

SypherPK explains how “nostalgic” Fortnite Blood Gulch map feels like Halo – Dexerto
SypherPK explains how “nostalgic” Fortnite Blood Gulch map feels like Halo Epic Games / SypherPKSypherPK shared his first impressions of Halo’s Blood Gulch map in Fortnite’s Creative Mode. He couldn’t stop smiling about how “nostalgic” it was and thinks they’ll even be able to re-create the entire game once modding is available. Fortnite players have been spoilt with crossovers lately. Season 5 already started with content from The Mandalorian and God of War. However, the trend continued with Halo’s Master Chief as a skin and a new map based on Blood Gulch. It gives older players a chance to re-live their experience on the map in a different way and lets newer players experience it for the very first time. Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan falls into the former category, and he relished in the nostalgia. SypherPK headed into Blood Gulch in style. He was wearing the matte black version of Master Chief’s skin, which is only available to players who log in to Fortnite on an Xbox Series X. Then, he found himself on the battlefield, perched on the roof of his team’s base inside a box canyon. It was a place he’s been to time and time again on Halo, and it didn’t take him long to get into the groove. “Dude! Master Chief is popping off! Let’s go,” he yelled, after picking up a power weapon and sniping an enemy in the head. It led him on a trip down memory lane. “Even though this is Fortnite, this is so nostalgic, man.” “I know it’s Fortnite, but this is making me feel so nostalgic right now,” he added. “I feel like I’m actually playing Halo. I know it’s not actually the same but holy crap!” He couldn’t stop smiling and laughing about it. Shortly after, he found something that made him feel even more nostalgic than before. “Wait! They have Warthogs in here but they’re not usable bro. Look at this!” he said. “Hey, imagine if you could just hop in and someone could get on the back with a machine gun.” For those who don’t know, it’s a fictional vehicle iconic to the Halo series. Players were able to use them on Blood Gulch as well. Fortnite’s re-creation of the map does include other vehicles, but Warthogs cannot be driven. SypherPK was a little disappointed, but he pondered on the endless possibilities once modding is available in Fortnite. “Once they add modding to the game, it’s going to be insane,” he said. “Like you’re going to be able to make Halo in Fortnite. Like legit.” Fortnite’s crossover with Halo has been a nice surprise. Nostalgia is probably the best way to describe seeing the Blood Gulch map filled with players once again. However, it’s crazy seeing it re-created so perfectly in a different game. It’s one of the many things that makes Fortnite so special.

SypherPK explains how Fortnite can revive itself in Season 3 – Dexerto
SypherPK explains how Fortnite can revive itself in Season 3 Epic Games / SypherPKPopular streamer and YouTuber Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has explained how he thinks Epic Games need to switch up the Fortnite loot pool in Season 3. SypherPK is one of the top content creators that has stuck by Fortnite through thick and thin. While many slowly found themselves growing tired of the game, switching over to the likes of Valorant or Warzone, Sypher is still creating predominantly Fortnite content for his almost 4 million subscribers. That, though, forms the basis of Sypher’s thought process in his June 8 video, in which he addresses why so many of his peers have stopped playing Fortnite. While skill-based matchmaking has been a huge point of contention among Fortnite players – Sypher included – he believes that another huge issue with the game, and why so many people are leaving it in the past, comes down to the loot pool. While Fortnite has often had some insane weapons or items in the game, Sypher believes that the launch of Fortnite Chapter 2 was very basic, and this might play a part in people stopping playing the game. “The current loot pool that we have doesn’t really allow for the crazy, funny moments that we’re used to seeing in previous seasons,” he said after briefly complaining about SBMM and AI bots. He continued: “Chapter 2, Season 1 was a very basic loot pool, and this season we’ve got a few extra things but, in reality, the crazy ‘Wow’ factor that we’ve experienced in previous seasons… It’s kind of non-existent.” He goes on to say that a lot of content that YouTubers made around Fortnite was based on the crazy items that were added to the game, such as shockwave grenades or the flintlock pistol. (Timestamp 1:30) Later in the video, Sypher explains that he hopes to see Epic “flex their creative skills” and show what they’re capable of putting into the game, mentioning that separate competitive and casual loot pools would be the best way to go. Overall, it’s clear to see what Sypher is talking about. Currently, the loot pool remains quite basic which, while it may suit a competitive setting, might not be the most fun for casual players or content creators alike. Maybe, with Season 3 starting on June 17, we’ll see an expanded loot pool come to Fortnite and recreate some of the old magic.

SypherPK explains how Fortnite has been “ruined” – Dexerto
SypherPK explains how Fortnite has been “ruined” SypherPK/Epic GamesPopular Twitch streamer Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has explained why Fortnite has “felt unsatisfying” for him to broadcast in recent months, citing a variety of issues plaguing the game. With the release of Valorant’s closed beta, many of the top pros and streamers have shifted their attention to Riot Games’ new FPS, with some even announcing their departure from Epic Games’ title. During his April 11 broadcast, streamer SypherPK explained what he thought of the biggest streaming stars, such as DrLupo and Courage, leaving Fortnite lately and revealed why he thinks the game has lost its fun. Sypher, who has been one of the top streamers since the game’s launch, reflected on the current state of Fortnite and explained to his viewers how players were no longer excited to queue up each day. “What happened to playing squads in the morning with the boys, people were excited to watch the content creators get on and squad up and try out the new content,” he said, highlighting some of the game’s most entertaining points. “Do you notice that every time we’ve played squads in the last 6 months, it devolves into us going ‘Oh my god, we’re just getting stream sniped by sweaty players,’” he added. He explained that, with the addition of skill-based matchmaking, playing Fortnite as a streamer had become much more difficult than before, “with SBMM there’s a smaller pool of people to play with, which means it’s easier to get stream sniped.” Sypher also highlighted some issues with the current map state and meta, claiming, “you spend most of the lobby trying to find people because everyone’s dead in the first ten minutes so the games themselves don’t feel satisfying to play out.” He also shared that it had become nearly impossible to play with other streamers, such as Ninja or NICKMERCS, because of SBMM and that the feature was ‘throwing the fun out’ of Fortnite. In general, SypherPK thinks that content creation has been totally “ruined”, for numerous reasons. “On all fronts, random duos, squads with the boys, checking out new content, just ruined.” He also criticized Epic Games for their lack of communication for the competitive scene too. This is not the first time that Sypher has raised concerns around the potential downfalls of SBMM and previously explained why he believes it is ruining Fortnite for casual players.

SypherPK defends Fortnite Season 6 amid #RIPFortnite trend but has “valid concerns” – Dexerto
SypherPK defends Fortnite Season 6 amid #RIPFortnite trend but has “valid concerns” Twitter: SypherPK / Epic GamesSypherPK defended Fortnite Season 6 from all the backlash on social media in the midst of the #RIPFortnite trend. However, he acknowledged some concerns are valid and spoke about them in a recent video. Fortnite players have mixed feelings about Season 6. On the one hand, disgruntled professional players and their fans voiced their concerns about the “death” of wagers. However, it quickly snowballed into a reflection of “the good old days,” which many claimed had come and gone. #RIPFortnite started trending on Twitter, and thousands more joined the fray. But on the other hand, many others are content with where the game is at. They responded by making waves with a separate #ThankYouEpicGames trend and seemingly won the battle. Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan shared his thoughts on the issue in a recent video. He even put out a poll to see how people feel about Season 6, which more than 750,000 Fortnite players responded to. “A lot of people are going crazy on social media about the game right now and saying that this season sucks. Especially competitive players,” he said “ “Over 750,000 people voted on [my] poll in the community tab. 46% of the people who voted said it’s good, 19% said it’s okay, 12% said it’s not the best, 15% said it’s the worst season, and 9% said it’s the best season.” He went on to share his own thoughts, saying, “I think the season right now is not horrible, especially from a content perspective. It’s really fun.” However, he also acknowledged “there are some very valid concerns” in the competitive scene. “I do understand why some of these competitive players feel like the game is declining. [But] the season has only been out for ten days. I think it’s a little too soon to say RIP Fortnite. Epic could do some… changes to make competitive [players] feel like they have the attention they deserve.” He believes this could happen in the form of “a major nerf or change the primal shotgun.” Although he believes some criticism and concern are warranted in the competitive scene, SypherPK is comfortable with Fortnite Season 6. Epic Games hasn’t responded to the #RIPFortnite trend and probably won’t. But they’ll certainly keep their eyes peeled and take any constructive criticism on board in their next patch.

SypherPK claims no building mode can save Fortnite from Apex and Warzone competition – Dexerto
SypherPK claims no building mode can save Fortnite from Apex and Warzone competition SypherPK/Epic GamesAli ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has shared his opinions on Fortnite’s no building mode, giving insights into how it could change the game’s future. Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 kicked off with building being temporarily removed from the game. While this aspect certainly helped distinguish Epic Games’ BR from other titles, many Fortnite players have enjoyed the shakeup. In fact, Ninja, Tfue, and NickEh30 have all demanded that the mode remain a permanent feature. Even Dr Disrespect chimed in to say the mode was “fun” and that he thought it was something he’d never say about Fortnite. Now, long-time player Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has given his verdict on the no building mode that is currently taking the Fortnite community by storm. SypherPK shares his views on Fortnite no building mode After spending hours streaming Fortnite’s no building mode, SypherPK finally revealed his thoughts on the temporary feature. “What if this is a way for [Epic Games] to test the game without building, and it just goes f*cking nuts? I’m excited, I’m actually thinking right now, that this is like a new game,” explained the streamer. For years, Fortnite players have wanted the devs to add a mode that removes all building aspects of the game. Despite these pleas, Epic has never ventured into this territory – until now. With the temporary removal of the building mechanic, it’s clear that many content creators are keen for this feature to stay. “They’re releasing a new Fortnite, am I high?,” laughed SypherPK. “If this test goes well, there’s going to be a mode like this that’s permanent. Think of it like this, Fortnite without building is a very subpar game. At its core, the gunplay is very basic and the movement is nothing compared to other games as it relies on building.” Despite this, SypherPK believes that the recent additions of the Tactical Sprint, recharging Overshield, and potential parkour mechanics will enable there to be a version of Fortnite without building. “This would make Fortnite playable for everyone who quit in Chapter 1 because they fell behind in builds and don’t want to go into Creative and grind building,” said the content creator. He also noted that more Warzone and Apex Legends players would likely give Fortnite a go. “These are intelligent moves [Epic Games] are making. They’re trying to capture the people who left or the people who will never come in because of building, and they’re doing this massive test.” It’s certainly an exciting prospect and many Fortnite fans will be hoping the no build mode remains a permanent feature in the future.

SypherPK claims Rapid Fire SMG is most underrated weapon in Fortnite – Dexerto
SypherPK claims Rapid Fire SMG is most underrated weapon in Fortnite SypherPK / Epic GamesPopular Twitch streamer Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has revealed why he thinks the Rapid Fire SMG is the most underrated Fortnite weapon in Season 3. The third season of Fortnite Chapter 2 finally arrived on June 17 and brought about many changes such as a flooded map and the addition of new weapons, such as the Charge Shotgun. However, despite new weapons being added in Season 3, streamer SypherPK revealed his surprising gun of choice, one which often gets overlooked when players are hunting for loot. Sypher was testing out many of the Season 3 changes, during his June 19 broadcast, when he found himself in a tough build battle with the last remaining player for the Victory Royale. However, after quickly switching to a Rapid Fire SMG that he had picked up earlier in the game, the streamer demonstrated just how devastating it can be in Fortnite. He managed to pin his opponent down in his build and continued to spray through the walls with the SMG, dealing damage and forcing the player to keep building in an attempt to survive. Sypher highlighted that, despite his opponent’s best efforts, he was unable to escape in time as the Rapid Fire SMG was dealing damage before he could even repair the walls, leading to another win for him. “Bullets keep slipping through because this fire rate is higher than the build rate,” he explained, revealing that there was little the player could do to counter him. Hassan also shared that, even with 50 ping in that match, the weapon was more than enough to secure the Victory Royale, “the Rapid Fire SMG is the most underrated gun in Fortnite, don’t you forget it.” The rapid fire smg (gold) is actually better than the P90 and drumgun. Not even capping. New video explaining tomorrow. — SypherPK (@SypherPK) June 19, 2020 He later claimed that the Rapid Fire SMG was more powerful than both the Drum Gun and the Compact SMG, AKA as the P90, which are considered the go-to guns for those close-range fights in the late game. While the Rapid Fire SMG has not been that popular since its initial release in Chapter 2, Season 2, it is likely that more Fortnite fans will be keeping an eye out for one in their future games.

SypherPK breaks down how to win 1v2 “third-party” gunfights in Fortnite – Dexerto
SypherPK breaks down how to win 1v2 “third-party” gunfights in Fortnite Getting “third-partied” while already fighting an enemy player in Fortnite can be hard to deal with, so Luminosity Gaming’s SypherPK has some tips on how to end up on top. The term “third-partied” refers to situations in Fortnite when two players are already engaged in a gunfight, and a third player, hidden and unbeknownst, begins to shoot at one of the two. This can prove difficult when both the initial and third-party opponents are shooting at you at the same time, which greatly limits your chances of survival. Popular streamer SypherPK, who is known for his Fortnite instructional videos, has released a tutorial on how to survive and win gunfights when getting third-partied. Read More: Streamer ‘TThump’ hilariously loses his mind after getting spammed by Miniguns in Fortnite – “When there’s three people involved in a fight, you got to figure out who the weakest opponent is, and if they’re so weak that you can finish them off quickly, go for that quick finish. Or two, if you’re going against a really skilled player, and I’m talking like you know you’re against a pro player. In that situation, sometimes keeping the weak opponent alive, but keeping the weak opponent in between you and the good player, or the good player in between you and the weak opponent, is the way to go about it. Because if the good player focuses on the weak opponent, you can focus on the good player. Or if the weak opponent focuses on the good player, you can also double team the good player in that situation.” While that strategy seems well thought out and constructed, the questions remains of how to figure out which of the opponents are good players and which aren’t. Read More: New ‘snaking’ technique in Fortnite shown by Tfue and NickEh30 makes it impossible to be shot – Fortunately, Sypher has provided some steps on how to determine the quality of each opponent, based on picking up on certain hints. “So there’s little hints that you know you’re going against somebody who’s good or somebody that’s bad. You can tell by how they move, how fast they build, by how accurate they are. There’s a lot of different ways and the more you play the more you’ll understand ‘ok I’m going against a good player here.’ So when you’re able to recognize that, you have a better time prioritizing who you’re going to fight, who you’re going to shoot, and who you’re going to keep alive in a three party fight.”

SypherPK believes Fortnite’s skill-based matchmaking “secretly” changed – Dexerto
SypherPK believes Fortnite’s skill-based matchmaking “secretly” changed Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has revealed that he believes Epic Games have made changes to their skill-based matchmaking system in Fortnite, claiming that he feels like it has been loosened. Skill-based matchmaking is a hot topic in the gaming community, with fans of rival battle royale title Apex Legends upset that it’s been added to the game, while Call of Duty fans are convinced that Modern Warfare also utilizes the system. Epic introduced their own skill-based matchmaking system at the start of Chapter 2, and with many – including Ali-A – not fans, SypherPK believes Epic Games may have listened to player complaints and adjusted it. While streaming on December 8, the 23-year-old explained that while playing throughout the day, he had noticed some differences in his lobby — specifically mentioning that he felt there were less high-skilled players in the lobby than there had been previously. “I think they changed the matchmaking,” the streamer told his chat. “I think they definitely changed the matchmaking a little bit today, or in the recent update. They might have loosened it up a bit.” “The skill-based matchmaking. Listen, there’s always going to be players that are questionable, not as good, but today I’ve noticed a huge increase in free kills. Like it’s less strict skill-based matchmaking. Usually solos are a little bit more sweaty, more higher skill.” Clip starts at 1:35 for mobile users. Epic Games have yet to clarify if Sypher’s opinion is actually correct, and based on how things have gone in Chapter 2, it’s possible we may never know for sure. For 10 seasons, the developers of the massively popular battle royale game would release patch notes detailing everything that was happening inside Fortnite, but have decided not to with the start of the game’s new chapter. Sypher finds that decision to be detrimental to the game as a whole, but he may not feel the same way about skill-based matchmaking if he starts finding himself in easier lobbies thanks to an apparent change by Epic.

SypherPK believes the next Fortnite Marvel superhero has already leaked – Dexerto
SypherPK believes the next Fortnite Marvel superhero has already leaked SypherPK via the Game Dial / Epic GamesPopular Twitch streamer Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has connected dots between Fortnite leaks and clues in Marvel’s catalog of superheroes for the next character that could be coming to Season 4. As it stands, Epic Games and Marvel have linked up to bring benchmark heroes like Wolverine, Storm, Thor and more into Fortnite’s battle royale. The Nexus War has enlisted the help of many iconic characters, but there could be a lesser known persona in the pipeline in the fight against Galactus. Sypher is an avid Fortnite player who follows all of the latest leaks for potential additions to the island, and this time, he discovered a description that could possibly hint to Crystalia Amaquelin Maximoff – or just ‘Crystal.’ At least, that’s his best guess, based on a leak from prominent dataminer ‘HYPEX’ that details an “upcoming Fireball ability from a character that their name starts with C.” Upcoming Fireball ability from a character that their name starts with C Cooldown: 2 seconds Large damage to builds: 150 Small damage to builds: 75 Large damage to players: 100 Small damage to players: 50 Max charge time: 1.25 sec Fireball life: 10 sec Fire propagation: 12— HYPEX (@HYPEX) August 30, 2020 The information gives a detailed description of damage breakdowns for a mythic fire ability that will have a two second cooldown doing large and small damage to players and structures of 150/75 and 100/50, respectively. Like Sypher suggested, Crystal is a long-shot and not really well-known. The Marvel Cinematic Universe stars many superheroes that didn’t used to be very popular, but that turned around throughout the course of the films. While Crystal isn’t a household for many fans, Fortnite players could get a closer look at her sometime in the future. Of course, other theorists researched and came up with other possible candidates like X-Men member ‘Cannonball,’ Captain Marvel, and more. Marvel’s collaboration with Epic Games has been a huge hit with Fortnite faithfuls as well as casual players. From the various skins and items to collect, there’s been a ton of content for Marvel fans to indulge in. If the Epic Games studios were looking to keep the hype train going, then it would only make sense to keep the new hero supply healthy within the game. Whether its Crystal or some other hero, Fortnite players will be keeping their eyes peeled for any clues that could signal a new Marvel hero in Season 4.

SypherPK wants World Cup player banned for “unsportsmanlike conduct” – Dexerto
SypherPK wants World Cup player banned for “unsportsmanlike conduct” Epic Games / SypherPK TwitchPopular Twitch streamer, Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan, reported an enemy player in his Fortnite World Cup qualifying game for “unsportsmanlike conduct.” There have already been numerous players called into question over the duration of the qualifying weeks, with bans being issued for players caught ‘teaming’ with others. The Luminosity Gaming star, SypherPK, had his own experience with an opponent looking to unfairly put other players at a disadvantage while he was live streaming on Twitch, attempting to qualify for the New York event. Sypher shared a clip of him replaying the battle between him and the enemy, in which the player built himself in a 1×1 box and then blew himself up using dynamite, purely to deny SypherPK the elimination points. “This is against the rules because you are expected to play to the best of your abilities, doing this is not allowed.” He then specified that the rules only applied to the Fortnite Battle Royale qualifiers and that doing this in a regular game does not constitute a ban, saying, “this is against the terms of service of the world cup… this is specific rules for the world cup that does not allow this type of game play.” This is a 2 week ban from competitive right? @FortniteGame Pretty sure this is against World Cup TOS. pic.twitter.com/Z5WgeMgM8b — LG SypherPK (@SypherPK) June 3, 2019 Sypher followed up by explaining that, although this conduct had no effect on their placing in the grand scheme of things, it was worth making an example of it, as to prevent any further situations like this: “We were not rewarded a point for that, not that it would have made a difference, we didn’t qualify or anything.” SypherPK and his duo, WBG Ranger, ended up finishing their week 8 finals run in 4th place, missing out on the lone qualification spot for the NA-West region, which was won by the Ghost Gaming duo of Sean and Aydan. The remaining unqualified players will have only 2 more weeks to secure their spot in the Finals, which takes place on July 26 in New York and will give those a chance to compete for their share of the massive $30 million prize pool.

SypherPK explains why new trap mechanic in Fortnite is ‘broken’ – Dexerto
SypherPK explains why new trap mechanic in Fortnite is ‘broken’ Significant changes to traps were made in Fortnite’s v7.4 update – but Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan believes the new mechanic isn’t for the better. In the hands of a skilful player, spike traps are one of the deadliest items in Fortnite – dealing 150 damage to enemies in their radius. With player skill increasing, more and more users are able to catch their opponent off guard by using the uncommon item. Popular streamer SypherPK has been nicknamed ‘the trap king’ due to his excellent plays which often leave his adversary dumbfounded. However, the 22-year-old is unimpressed with the changes Epic Games made in the recent update. Traps no longer require a wall or floor to be placed as the game will now automatically place it for you – this allowed a player fighting Sypher near Pleasant Park to put a trap in a position that no-one would have expected. After taking significant damage and losing the fight, he vented his frustrations to his stream viewers. “He places a trap there?!” Sypher yelled. “That’s not in any way skilful – it wasn’t even intentional! Sypher questioned the reasoning behind Epic Games introducing this change with no one in the community complaining about their previous state. He continued, “It’s such a weird addition to the game that you can just start throwing traps down, it encourages just spamming traps.” Indeed, the new mechanic allows for easier trap placements but has massively lowered the skill gap in using them. Sypher and many others feel that the change should be reverted as soon as possible.

SypherPK explains why not releasing patch notes is hurting Fortnite – Dexerto
SypherPK explains why not releasing patch notes is hurting Fortnite Popular Fortnite player Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has explained why the decision to not release patch notes during Chapter 2 is actually hurting the game. With Fortnite switching to a new map with its last major update, Epic Games have taken away one of the most popular aspects of their regular updates – the patch notes. Like all other games, these details give players an insight into what they can expect with new updates including new items and whether or not their favorite weapon is no longer usable. The developers have faced criticism from plenty of players for no longer releasing them, but SypherPK claims they could be doing more harm than good by not unveiling the changes. In a lengthy tweet thread, the Luminosity Gaming member explained how the lack of patch notes has caused “unneeded confusion and frustration” within the Fortnite community, while also noting that it’s now difficult to give feedback on the game. Sypher also noted that having no patch notes causes “unneeded speculation” because players may uncover what they believe to be a new change, but they can’t be certain as there are no patch notes to fall back upon. The lack of communication behind the choice to not post patch notes also hurts and only causes unneeded speculation. I’ve been experiencing delayed builds, losing walls more often (coin flip feels different), and other issues that can’t be pinned down due to a lack of patch notes — SypherPK (@SypherPK) November 7, 2019 The popular Twitch streamer concluded by saying a lack of patch notes has been taking some of his enjoyment as both a player and content creator. He signed off by reiterating his thoughts about the game being harmed. Sypher said: “The lack of information is creating a divide between players and the game.” I’m very passionate about this game. Reading the patch notes and planning content around future updates was a big part of the enjoyment I personally got as a content creator and as a competitive player. The lack of information is creating a divide between players and the game. — SypherPK (@SypherPK) November 7, 2019 As a result of the lack of official patch notes, some players have been left to compile their own unofficial changes but, again, they could very well be jotting something down that hasn’t actually changed – it may just feel like it has. Whether or not Epic will bring the patch notes back at some point remains unclear, but it’s obvious that the community would like to see communication in form or another.

Swords coming soon to Fortnite as Epic Games tease previously leaked weapon and LTM – Dexerto
Swords coming soon to Fortnite as Epic Games tease previously leaked weapon and LTM Epic Games have shared an interesting teaser for Fortnite that appears to confirm that the leaks about a sword based Limited Time Mode is coming soon. Fans have been convinced that swords will be coming to Fortnite ever since one was spotted in the Season 7 release trailers and images on December 6. On December 9 a number of leaks seemed to confirm that the sword aspects of the game would be related to an upcoming LTM, and on December 10 Epic Games dropped a video that finally confirmed that something to do with swords will be released very soon. The ten second clip shows a sword stuck in the ground (yes, we were thinking of King Arthur’s legendary sword ‘Excalibur’, too). The shot slowly zooms in before the hand of the Ice King skin can be seen breaking the sword free. Whether the sword will be part of an all-new melee weapon class or simply tied to a Limited Time Mode is unknown, and the only caption with the video reads: “Coming soon… a weapon fit for a King”. Coming soon… a weapon fit for a King :dagger_knife::crown: pic.twitter.com/n3kMDCS5IH — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) December 10, 2018 After the success of the Fortnite and Avengers crossover, which saw players fight for the gauntlet of Thanos and use his powers to crush their opponents, a similar mode with swords could certainly be a hit with the community. It will be equally interesting to see whether sword remains in the game after the alleged LTM comes to an end. Given how prominent it has been in imagery so far, we wouldn’t be surprised if it does!

Sway abruptly leaves FaZe Clan amid mysterious social media blackout – Dexerto
Sway abruptly leaves FaZe Clan amid mysterious social media blackout Instagram: fazesway18-year-old Fortnite pro and content creator Josue Burgos, better known as Sway, has decided to call time on his tenure with FaZe Clan, leaving the organization of his volition amid a mysterious blackout across social media. FaZe Sway is no longer — at least if his Twitter is to be believed. The popular Fortnite personality has opted to depart from the North American organization as of September 13. This announcement, seemingly of his own choice, was made with a simple post on Twitter, declaring that he had parted ways after three years with the group. At the time of writing, it’s unclear what prompted his sudden exit. FaZe Clan is yet to formally address the situation and Sway is yet to issue a follow-up with further details surrounding his current status. The news simply followed an earlier tweet in which the young content creator claimed he was “done,” shortly thereafter changing his name on Twitter to the same word as well. Amid the shift, Sway also blacked out a few of his social channels. His profile picture and banner on Twitter are now black along with his Instagram profile too. “Will explain when I’m ready,” he added in an Instagram reel sharing the news. Sway still appears as a listed member on the official FaZe website for the time being. Dexerto has reached out to FaZe Clan for further information on Sway’s departure. At just 15 years of age, Sway was the youngest member in FaZe Clan at the time of his arrival in early 2019. Having built a following for his Fortnite skills and flashy edits, Sway soon jumped into the competitive mix too, going at it in many online events over the past few years but struggling to crack above a top six placement. During his time as a competitive player, Sway was accused of ‘teaming’ in Solo events, later apologizing and opening himself up to any repercussions that came as a result. Most recently, Sway was embroiled in account sharing controversy, seeing his Epic Games creator code stripped permanently. On the verge of four million YouTube subscribers, Sway is still a relatively active personality to this day, posting a handful of videos a month. Elsewhere, he occasionally streams on Twitch to over 850,000 followers, and frequently shares on Instagram to over three million fans. Over the past three years he appeared in multiple collaborative projects with FaZe Clan members and even received his own custom FaZe necklace. It remains unclear what drove him away from the organization he publicly supported as recently as five days prior with a merch post on Instagram.

Sword based LTM coming to Fortnite Season 7 according to leaks – Dexerto
Sword based LTM coming to Fortnite Season 7 according to leaks epic gamesA Sword based limited time mode is set to arrive in Fortnite during Season 7, after game files were found for a ‘br_sword’ mode, along with various audio files. Swords featured briefly in the Season 7 trailer, wielded by Sgt. Winter, as well as the tier 100 skin ‘Ice King’ – whose sword and outfit conspicuously resembles the Lich King from World of Warcraft. These were the first clues that these swords might have a bigger role to play this season, with some kind of medieval themed mode perhaps on the way, linked to the mysterious castle in the Iceberg. The audio files discovered are all labelled under the ‘br_sword’ prefix, and distinctly sound like a sword being swished back and forth. Names such as ‘Impact’, ‘Jump_attack_impact’, and ‘Swing_second’ certainly belong to the sword being used in combat. You can hear the audio files being played below and listen for yourself, courtesy of fnbrleaks. What we don’t know is whether the mode will be swords only, or if perhaps only one or a select number of players will use swords, similar to the Thanos inspired LTM, where one player was granted Thanos’ “Infinity Gauntlet”. The other sword seen in the Season 7 promotional material belongs to the Ice King, which is a progressive skin, and was originally believed to be his specific harvesting tool – but it could in fact be a weapon.

Surprise team dominates $10,000 Code Red Fortnite Duos tournament – recap, final standings, and info – Dexerto
Surprise team dominates $10,000 Code Red Fortnite Duos tournament – recap, final standings, and info BoomTV’s latest Code Red Fortnite tournament has come to a close with compLexity Gaming pro players Michael ‘Hogman’ Hogman and Mack ‘MackWood’ Aesoph finishing in first place. This week’s Code Red Fortnite tournament was played on February 22 and featured some of the biggest names in competitive Fortnite battling it out for a share of the $10,000 prize pool. Prior to reading up on the results, make sure to take a look through the ‘Format and Rules’ section below, as this week’s tournament featured a brand new format in place of its usual ‘total of two kill races.’ RESULTS Seeing as the field of competitors in the Code Red tournament was full of some of the most successful players in competitive, such as NICKMERCS, Vivid, NateHill, and others, it came as a slight surprise at how dominant the compLexity Duo were in winning this event. Hogman and Mackwood were more than impressive coming out the gates, finishing the first of six matches with 11 eliminations and the Victory, earning 18 points. They stagnated a bit in rounds two and three before ripping off 13 eliminations and another Victory Royale in round four, climbing all the way to 38 points. Round five saw them pile on another eight points and a match victory, entering the final round with 53 points, 23 more than the second place team. Their final point tally was at 56, more than good enough to secure the $5,000 first place prize as it was a whopping 32 more than the 24 points than the second-place Duo of Ghost Gaming’s Innocents and Assault got, who themselves took home $2,500. Won 4/6 games today in the Code Red tournament with @coL_MackWood 1st place in the tournament. :trophy: — Code Hogman (@Hogmanlolz) February 23, 2019 The rest of the top-five was rounded off with Ghost’s Saf and NRG Esports’ Zayt getting 23 points for third place, ThreshFPS and InspyreFN coming in fourth with 17 points, and Arckite and TopGun’s 14 points good for fifth. You can see the rest of the final leaderboard of the February 22 Code Red tournament on the event’s main webpage. FORMAT AND RULES Taking advantage of the new custom matchmaking that has been made available in Fortnite, Code Red have steered way from their traditional “total of two kill race” format in favor of a new system. This new format featured 45 Duos playing six matches against each other on a custom server, three on NA-West and three on NA-East. The scoring system was based on both match placements and elimination totals: Victory Royale: 3 Points – 2nd-3rd Place: 2 Points – 4th-5th Place: 1 Point – 6 Eliminations: 10 Points – Big Bonus: After 6 Eliminations, 1 Point will be added to each elimination. The above is the total amount of points the Duo received. Example: 4-5th with no Elims = 1 Point – 4-5th with 6 Elims = 11 Points – PLAYERS AND TEAMS This week’s Code Red tournament featured 45 total Duos, about half of them consisting of pro players and content creators and the other half of players who qualified via the online qualifiers. Some of the prominent Duos include 100 Thieves’ NICKMERCS and Kenith, Ghost Gaming’s Aydan and FaZe Clan’s Thiefs, Team Liquid’s Vivid and Chap, Team SoloMid’s Myth and Clouds, and many others. The full list of players and Duos has been provided below, along with a link to their Twitch or YouTube livestream. PRIZE BREAKDOWN After the six matches are played, the top five ranked Duos based on total points were awarded prizes based on the following breakdown: Total: $10,000 USD – 1st: $5,000 – 2nd: $2,500 – 3rd: $1,250 – 4th: $750 – 5th: $500 –

Surprise Fortnite update fixes aim assist and editing bugs: Patch notes – Dexerto
Surprise Fortnite update fixes aim assist and editing bugs: Patch notes Epic GamesA surprise Fortnite update has been released on February 25, addressing some of the issues which were borne out of the big Chapter 2, Season 2 update. There is no downtime required for this patch, as it’s only a small hotfix to address various stability issues. When any major update is released, it’s almost inevitable that some new code errors will result in bugs and glitches. Despite only being a small patch, it has repaired some fairly major sticking points that had come up, including issues with sprinting, aim assist and more. After the Season 2 update went live on February 20, players immediately began to notice problems with aim assist, with some even reporting it was working when aiming through walls or when sitting in bushes. Additionally, editing builds while sprinting had become troublesome. These two potentially game-breaking faults have been resolved on all platforms with this update on February 25. Another issue, only affecting controller players, was also fixed: ‘Repeatedly pressing the select button on controller when entering Maya’s Upgrade Vault may result in a loss of input in the Vault until exiting a match or restarting the game.’ Finally, an issue with the Corrupted Scratch Skin, which meant the corrupted style wasn’t actually showing in the lobby, has also been resolved. These are all of the known issues addressed in the update, with any other minor stability fixes not noted publicly. Fortnite February 25 update – patch notes Fixed issue with editing while sprinting – Fixed issue with aim assist performing inconsistently – Fixed issue with Corrupted Scratch Outfit style showing no corruption in Lobby – Fixed issue with losing controller input in Maya’s Upgrade Vault – You can find all of the known issues that Epic Games are aware of and working on, on the Community Issues Trello Board.

Surprise Fortnite update fixes three major problems in battle royale mode – Dexerto
Surprise Fortnite update fixes three major problems in battle royale mode Epic Games have released a surprise hotfix for Fortnite Battle Royale on Wednesday, January 16, addressing three problems which players will be overjoyed to see resolved. Fortnite already received a massive update on January 15, with the release of patch V7.20, which added new weapons, map changes and the return of glider redeploy as an item. It appears that not everything was ticked off from Epic’s to do list however, as a client update has been rolled out the following day, with three very specific fixes. The first addresses an issue which in fact seems to have been caused inadvertently by the V7.20 update, as players started noticing that trap selection was faulty. When trying to select a trap, players were sometimes taken to wall selection instead, but Epic have been quick to address this issue, which would have been very annoying if it had persisted. Secondly, they have also addressed an issue which has been prevalent for some time. Labelled ‘ghost peeking’, players were able to gain a significant advantage when peeking out of cover using a scoped weapon, as they could shoot over the cover without the head/body of their character being exposed. We have released a client update to fix some of the current issues. There will be no downtime, but the players will be required to download the update. Fixes in this update: • Trap selection • Ghost peeking with scoped weapons • Scythe pickaxe sounds— Fortnite (@FortniteGame) January 16, 2019 Shots would not be blocked by cover when scoped in, but if the player scoped out again, the weapon would no longer be able to fire over cover, as shown in the clip below. Epic haven’t given any details as to how exactly they have fixed this issue, so players will need to jump into a match and get a feel for the adjustments. It was even more pertinent given they just added a new scoped pistol to the game too. The third and final change is a less significant one, but will be good news for players who use the ‘Scythe’ (a.k.a ‘reaper’) harvesting tool. The signature scythe sound was changed to the standard pickaxe noise in the V7.20 update, again perhaps inadvertently, but Epic has now reversed this change. More: Fortnite Season 7, Week 6 challenges and how to complete them – Search Chilly Gnomes, slide Ice Pucks and more – Given the update is so small in size, there is no downtime necessary, but players will need to perform a download to have the new settings in place. The same download will be available later on January 16 for Nintendo Switch, although Epic has not given a precise time.

Surprise Fortnite update 11.50.1 released on Xbox, iOS and Switch – Dexerto
Surprise Fortnite update 11.50.1 released on Xbox, iOS and Switch Graphics: Epic GamesEpic Games have rolled out a surprise 11.50.1 update in Fortnite Chapter 2 for Xbox and iOS, with it also coming to Nintendo Switch soon. The developers of the uber-popular battle royale title are building towards the release of Season 2, bringing an end to the longest Fortnite season of all time when it launches on February 20 – following two delays. Since the arrival of the game’s previous update, patch 11.50, on February 5, players have been experiencing a number of different stability issues in-game and it appears that this update will now address those. As has been the case since the beginning of Chapter 2 last year, there is a complete absence of official patch notes for this patch, although deploying a hotfix like this would suggest that Epic are reacting to some in-game bugs discovered following the last update. The new update was confirmed by the official Fortnite Status account on February 11, stating: “We’ve released patch v11.50.1 on Xbox One and iOS to address stability. Patch v11.50.1 will also be released on Nintendo Switch. We will provide an update when it’s available to download on the platform.” We’ve released patch v11.50.1 on Xbox One and iOS to address stability. Patch v11.50.1 will also be released on Nintendo Switch. We will provide an update when it’s available to download on the platform. pic.twitter.com/JlvRL5Xgsa — Fortnite Status (@FortniteStatus) February 11, 2020 Since patch 11.50 went live, which was supposed to bring back the Launch Pad in all its glory and implement a new game engine, it actually appears to have broken the returning item – marring their comeback. The arrival of the updated Unreal Chaos Engine has seen the game’s developers acknowledge that revives aren’t working as they should, players experiencing difficulties using Jump Pads properly, and Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney has even discovered an issue when dropping in as well – with characters freezing in mid-air to spoil his drop. Epic Games have previously stated that their next update would bring an end to a frustrating bug involving pickaxe weak spots. However, it’s unclear as to what this new update has addressed specifically. Fans will be hoping a few of these issues have been resolved the next time they jump from the Battle Bus. We’ll add more details to this article if they’re made available.

Summit1g mindblown by Fortnite’s FNCS landing spot controversy – Dexerto
Summit1g mindblown by Fortnite’s FNCS landing spot controversy Epic Games / Twitch: summit1gPopular Twitch streamer Jaryd ‘summit1g’ Lazar has been left mindblown by the Fortnite Champion Series landing spot controversy as drama unfolded between top players Cody ‘Clix’ Conrod and Dominick ‘UnknownxArmy’ Green. While playing in the Fortnite Champion Series solo tournament, Clix complained that he was frequently getting dropped on by Unknown, threatening both their tournament chances, after Clix danced on Unknown after eliminating him from a match. Compromising someone else’s landing spot is usually considered poor sportsmanship in Fortnite, with players opting to pick out an opponent and go after them rather than playing the game to the best of their abilities, at a drop spot that they are used to and know well. unknown is deadass the weirdest kid for actually landing on me pleasnt and fucking my loot path so fucking childish, btw im chilling in a bush — Clix (@Clix) May 23, 2020 Although the drama encapsulated the Fortnite community, it seemingly managed to spread much further, with summit – a huge critic of Epic Games’ battle royale title – commenting on the situation. He wasn’t the only one, but his response to the drama definitely elicited an array of interesting responses from the Fortnite community, many of whom claimed he simply didn’t know what he was talking about. After wrapping his head around the controversy, summit tweeted about how competitive Fortnite is “so damn weird,” adding that in CS if someone is “talking sh*t” he can just roll over to their bombsite to “shut him up.” In CS if someone is talking shit, I can roll over to their bombsite to shut him up. — summit1g (@summit1g) May 24, 2020 Of course, with an entirely different esport comes a different subset of rules, be they in the rulebook itself or an established gentleman’s agreement when it comes to sportsmanship. Top Fortnite pro Jonathan “yung calculator” Weber was one of the first to respond and quickly reminded summit of this fact, saying that he loves him but to not tweet things such as that when he has “no idea of how it works.” summit I love you, but you dont understand the game at a competitive level. Please dont say shit like this when you have no idea about how it works — yung calculator (@yungcalc) May 24, 2020 Obviously, as is the nature of the internet, there was a lot of vitriol in the responses to summit’s tweet, both for and against summit’s point, and he eventually wrote another tweet asking for people not to hate him “too much,” taking a dig at Dennis ‘Cloakzy’ Lepore at the same time. Don’t hate me too much. As much as I hate Fortnite I’m still one of the ones who gives it credit for stuff too. And the players are pretty damn good except @cloakzy. — summit1g (@summit1g) May 24, 2020 Needless to say, his exposure to the competitive Fortnite scene may have ended up posing more questions than it actually answered, and, to his credit, he at least tried to learn rather than simply ignoring it.

If you’re pining for another fix of DC comics goodness after seeing The Suicide Squad, you’re in luck. Bloodsport, the formidable assassin who once put Superman in the hospital, will be available soon. Portrayed by Idris Elba in the latest installment of the DC Extended Universe, this badass skin will definitely please those looking for some action. If you’re more inclined towards everyone’s favorite boy scout in blue, it looks like there isn’t long left till Superman flies in to save the day. How to get Bloodsport Fortnite skin According to actor Idris Elba: “Bloodsport is coming to the island, and he’s playing for keeps!” The hyper-cool hitman is set to be available August 3rd at 8 PM ET / 1 AM BST, via the in-game store. Judging by past bundle drops, we can assume that he will cost around 1,500 V-Bucks. Like other licensed bundles, Bloodsport will likely include new weapon wraps, emotes, and a glider for stylish transportation. Recent DC Comics bundles have included Harley Quinn, The Dark Knight era Batman, Deathstroke, and Aquaman. Most of these aren’t currently available but have been known to re-appear in the in-game store from time to time. Keep an eye out for them in the future. Consider this your notice Superman 😈 Bloodsport is coming to the Fortnite Item Shop on August 3, 2021 at 8PM ET! Don’t forget to follow @idriselba @JamesGunn 👀 pic.twitter.com/hEIBnDg5Yh — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) July 29, 2021 How to get Superman skin in Fortnite Arguably the most iconic superhero ever created, Superman has been teased to be flying into the island for quite some time. First revealed during the Season 7: Chapter 2 trailer, the Man of Steel is an amazing character for Epic Games to acquire. Despite the disappointment of not being available immediately, the wait for Superman has been palpable. Luckily, it seems like the wait will soon be over. Luckily, it seems as if the wait will soon be over, given his rivals are coming. No time has been specified as of yet, but we’d wager he will be unlockable in the same fashion as Bloodsport. Players have already managed to reveal some of Superman’s bundle features, which notably includes the historic regeneration suit from the Death of Superman storyline. Seen recently in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the black iteration of Kal-El’s Kryptonian suit aided in buffing his powers after returning from the dead. This version looks brilliant and we’re itching to hopefully fly around the island soon. After all, it’s for truth and justice.

Summit1g criticizes Fortnite pros complaining about the BRUTE mech – Dexerto
Summit1g criticizes Fortnite pros complaining about the BRUTE mech summit1g – Twitch / Epic GamesFortnite players have been complaining about the B.R.U.T.E. mechs since the beginning of Season X, but former CS:GO pro turned Twitch star Jaryd ‘summit1g‘ Lazar has a simple suggestion for them. The competitive Fortnite scene has been in a state of disarray for the majority of Season 10 thanks to the mechs. These mechs give pretty much anyone a chance to win a game, a fact that doesn’t sit well with pro players since relative newbies could wipe out a pro without much of a challenge. Epic Games explains how the mechs were added in for players to essentially level the playing field, but players did not agree with that sentiment. Summit, on the other hand, thinks the players should just stop their complaining altogether and instead focus on what sets Fortnite apart from other battle royales – building. “I see all these Fortnite players complaining about mechs,” he tweeted on August 16. “lol just build.” Telling players to “just build” has become a meme in the community when players complain about certain mechanics. Players have said it time and time again to players who couldn’t adapt to the meta, such as when Ballers and planes reigned supreme. It’s a comical way to avoid the major problems in the game by just downplaying and making light of it. I see all these fortnite players complaining about mechs. lol just build. — summit1g (@summit1g) August 16, 2019 Epic Games believes the mech has a place in Fortnite while the majority of the pro community flat out disagree with that. Summit, who doesn’t play Fortnite, seems like he enjoys watching the community turn on the game they love by tearing it down. Some people really do like to watch the world burn. If this criticism keeps up, and it looks like it will, it’s hard to imagine Epic Games standing their ground on the mech. Once enough of the pros stop playing, Epic will be left with little choice but to abandon the mech experiment.

Summer Skirmish Week 2 Winner Discusses Mouse and Keyboard Accusations on the Fortnite Podcast – Dexerto
Summer Skirmish Week 2 Winner Discusses Mouse and Keyboard Accusations on the Fortnite Podcast Various members of the Fortnite competitive community were up-in-arms over the recent Summer Skirmish winner ‘iDropz_Bodies’ and the accusation that he ‘cheated. Hosted on Friday, July 20, the second ‘Summer Skirmish’ tournament hosted by Epic Games featured a relatively-unknown player take home the $60,000 Grand Prize after a dominant performance across the day. However, following the victory, numerous community members began to hit out at iDropz_Bodies with claims that he was cheating throughout the entire tournament with different accusations, which led to a major debate between those on both sides. More: Fortnite ‘Summer Skirmish’ Week Three $500K Tournament (Day One) Format, Live Standings, and Streams – ft. Tfue, Myth, and More! – Epic Games eventually needed to step in and run behind-the-scenes tests on the matter at hand, with the Fortnite developer stating that they found no evidence of foul play, and that iDropz_Bodies won the tournament in a fair manner. Regardless of Epic Games clearing his name, many still believe that he used a keyboard and mouse while on the PlayStation 4, yet even though this method is technically allowed in the rules, iDropz_Bodies denies all use of the method. On the Fortnite Podcast with MonsterDFace and TwoLoudTX, the Summer Skirmish winner mentioned how regardless of what he does, it will be difficult to convince anyone that he did not use a mouse and keyboard until he gets a full stream setup. “[There’s] no point in arguing with people. There’s no way I’ll be able to convince anybody that I didn’t use mouse and keyboard until I get my setup and I actually ‘hand-cam’ streams.” The full Fortnite Podcast with iDropz_Bodies (Ep.37) can be viewed below, brought to you by Dexerto.com.

Summer Skirmish winner Morgausse explains why Fortnite World Cup Qualifers were “rough” – Dexerto
Summer Skirmish winner Morgausse explains why Fortnite World Cup Qualifers were “rough” Epic GamesProfessional player Austin ‘Morgausse’ Etue is the latest to criticize the qualification process for the Fortnite World Cup Finals, calling it “rough.” Morgausse is one of numerous prominent names in the competitive Fortnite community who aren’t competing in the World Cup, having failed to qualify via any of the ten weeks of qualifier tournaments. Regardless, he decided to attend the $30 million competition as a spectator, and spoke briefly to Dexerto about the several aspects of the qualifiers that he didn’t like. “The online qualifiers were really rough,” he said. “There were a lot of things about them that I didn’t like, they made them really hard. For example, you get into random games with 3,000 other people, so your spot could be contested by eight people one game, but the next game, nobody’s there.” “There’s less predictability overall, it just feels more random,” he went on. “But I’m confident that they’ll fix the qualifier system for next year.” Discussion begins at 1:13 mark. Summer Skirmish winner @Morgausse_ says #FortniteWorldCup Qualifiers were rough, but is confident Epic Games will fix it. Powered by @GFuelEnergy pic.twitter.com/aABIb3apqc — DEXERTO @ #FortniteWorldCup (@Dexerto) July 27, 2019 There were ten total weeks of qualifiers for the World Cup Finals – five weeks dedicated to Solos and five for Duos. Each weekend consisted of two days of action – ten matches played in each region on Saturdays, with those who made the cut qualifying for the next round of ten matches on Sundays. All of the qualifiers were online, meaning that there were other factors that affected outcomes of matches, such as internet connection, ping, lag spikes, server quality, among others. While it is expected that many of those who didn’t qualify for the World Cup Finals would take shots at the qualification process, Morgausse is not your average, run-of-the-mill competitive player. He placed first at the finals of the Summer Skirmish last summer, going from a relatively unknown player to the winner of the biggest prize haul in Fortnite esports at the time, which was $250,000. So when he and star players like Cloak, Poach, NICKMERCS and many others do not qualify, there could be some actual substance behind what Morgausse is saying, and Epic may need to look at their qualification system moving forward.

Successful pro Fortnite player responds to accusations of account scamming – Dexerto
Successful pro Fortnite player responds to accusations of account scamming A professional Fortnite Battle Royale player with over $45,000 in earnings has released a statement after being publicly accused of scamming someone while illicitly selling accounts. Luminosity Gaming’s Nate ‘Kreo’ Lou found himself in some hot water on February 7 after a video was published on YouTube that accused Kreo of scamming another Fortnite player out of $100. According to the 17-minute video, a Fortnite player named Noah contacted Kreo to try and commission the pro to get him wins, and Kreo not only agreed to do so but also offered to sell him Fortnite accounts stocked with wins and rare cosmetic items. After Noah purchased on account for $100, which was apparently a third of its original $300 price tag, Kreo kept changing the passwords, which did not allow Noah to access the account. The video goes on to allege that despite Noah’s best efforts to contact Kreo to resolve the issue, he was never able to actually access the account nor get his money back. Upon seeing the accusations made against him, Kreo quickly responded with a long post on Twitter, in which he admitted to participating in illicit account selling and took responsibility for the situation, but came short of admitting that he had actually scammed his customer. According to the post, the account in question was never actually Kreo’s but belong to a friend of his, and the miscommunication between the three parties ended up causing a mess of the situation. We’ve been made aware of the situation involving one of our Fortnite pros and are investigating thoroughly before making any comments or decisions. We will update the community as necessary. Thank you for your patience and understanding. — Luminosity Gaming (@Luminosity) February 7, 2019 Kreo is one of four Fortnite players that make up LG’s pro roster, and he’s found substantial success since joining the org last July. He’s gotten several money placings at officially sanctioned Fortnite competitions, including a third place finish in week four of the Summer Skirmish, which earned him $45,000.

Stunning xQc and Pokimane Fortnite skin concepts for Icon Series – Dexerto
Stunning xQc and Pokimane Fortnite skin concepts for Icon Series xQc / Pokimane / Epic GamesTwo artists have created some amazing Fortnite skin concepts for Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel and Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys for the game’s Icon Series. The Fortnite Icon Series is a brand new initiative designed by Epic Games to engage with and highlight the work of Fortnite personalities. It kicked off with the most famous streaming personality, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins receiving his very own Fortnite skin, as well as other huge content creators like Pokimane and Jordan Fisher receiving in-game emotes. Since then fans have been busy creating concepts for their favorite streamers, with Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney being one of the first streamers to be recreated in a Fortnite design. However, it didn’t stop there as two more stunning designs have popped up, featuring xQc and Pokimane. The xQc concept was created by @Nova_The_Gamer and is an amazing recreation of everyone’s favorite ex-Overwatch pro. Fans absolutely loved the design, but did spot some improvements, as they filled the comments. “This looks super cool! The only issue I see is the hands, otherwise amazing Nova!” said one user, while another just posted a ‘Pog’ emote. The criticism went down well with Nova, who also realized the hands are quite large – but other than that, it’s a great take on xQc. FORTNITE ICON SERIES: XQC (CONCEPT) I’ve been watching @xQc play Fortnite recently, so I attempted to create a Fortnite skin for him! This is my first time making anything like this. Drop a follow for future concepts! ❤️Likes ➕🔁 Rt’s are appreciated pic.twitter.com/n28zEWAsgS — Nova (@Nova_The_Gamer) January 28, 2020 Meanwhile, @D3NNI_yt returned with a concept of Pokimane, not long after starting the trend with the Tfue design. The concept of Imane is extremely detailed and even features two styles, streamer and casual, as well as a hilarious ‘poggers’ backpack. It also looks almost identical to Pokimane, so much so that that the streamer herself was completely stunned by it when checking it out on stream and even shared her love for it with a “this is insaaaane” reply. https://twitter.com/D3NNI_yt/status/1222668881178898432 Overall, both concepts look incredibly and would be an amazing addition to the Icon Series, for both the content creators and their fans. However, for now all we can do is wait and see if either of these skin concepts are turned to reality, but with both streamers being involved with Fortnite, it may just happen.

Success of Fortnite Appears to Have Boosted Xbox Live and PlayStation Plus Revenues – Dexerto
Success of Fortnite Appears to Have Boosted Xbox Live and PlayStation Plus Revenues New figures from Microsoft and Sony show big increases for both Xbox Live and PlayStation Plus, and it looks like the success of Fortnite was the difference maker. At this point, Fortnite Battle Royale has firmly cemented itself as the number one game in the world, breaking records and raking in the cash – even for an entirely free-to-play game. Fortnite itself is reported to have made $223 million in the month of March alone, which was an increase of almost $100 million over the the previous month. However, new figures released by creators of the two biggest consoles, Xbox and PlayStation, show big increases also and it all points to Fortnite being the factor. As reported by Forbes, Fortnite is the top grossing game on consoles and the first free-to-play game to take this crown. In the past quarter, both Sony and Microsoft reported 29.5% and 14% more sign-ups respectively for their console memberships (PS Plus and XBL). This helped create increases of around 18% more revenue for both consoles. However, for PlayStation players, they do not require a PS Plus membership to play, but Tom Wijman, market consultant and Newzoo is certain Fortnite is still the factor. “It’s safe to assume that Fortnite helped grow console subscriptions in the past quarter given its massive, widespread success, and indeed, PUBG will have boosted Xbox revenues.” Fortnite skins and daily items are a big revenue source But not everyone agrees, as of course many Fortnite players will not be entirely new customers for the console makers. As Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter explains: “Around 20% of players already owned consoles, and my guess is that the vast majority of these people were already subscribers to PS Plus and XBL.” Regadless, the success of Fortnite and its free-to-play, daily items and battle pass business model will likely be attracting the attention of plenty developers. Fortnite is really the first to have pulled this off on console, while PC players have had the free-to-play model for some time, with games like League of Legends. It remains to be seen if Fortnite is just an impressive exception to the rule, or if other games developers and publishers will be able to imitate.

Study shows higher FPS has dramatic impact on K/D in Fortnite, PUBG and Apex Legends – Dexerto
Study shows higher FPS has dramatic impact on K/D in Fortnite, PUBG and Apex Legends Graphics card makers NVIDIA have provided statistics which appear to prove that having higher FPS in games like Fortnite and PUBG can have a dramatic impact on your kill to death ratio, when paired with a high refresh rate monitor. Does having higher frames per second (FPS) and refresh rate really make a major improvement on your performance in shooter games? Well, of course that’s what NVIDIA, the biggest graphics card manufacturers, would want you to believe, but now, they have provided the evidence to support this claim. NVIDIA’s top of the range card, the RTX 2080 Ti, will set you back well over $1,000, but its performance truly is unrivalled by just about any other card on the market. But is all that money worth in terms of gameplay performance? According to NVIDIA’s own research, players using an RTX 20 series card (2070, 2080 and 2080 Ti), and enjoying the FPS boost it grants, have, on average, a 53% higher K/D ratio in Fortnite and PUBG, than players using the low end GTX 600 series card. Simply owning a better graphics card won’t instantly make you better at a game though, and NVIDIA recognizes this. So, as a further test, NVIDIA have added the amount of time spent practicing into the equation, with the number of hours per week paired with the graphics card being used, and the results still show big advantages with the superior hardware. Finally, the effect of pairing a superior graphics card with a higher refresh rate monitor was also tested. Having a card capable of 144 FPS isn’t worth much if you are running it on a 60Hz monitor. Running a 240Hz monitor might be overkill for many, especially given the much higher price they demand, but pairing a powerful graphics card with a 144Hz monitor is probably the best price-to-performance deal. For aspiring competitive battle royale players, it will be in your interest to at least maintain 144 FPS, which, depending on quality settings, should be possible with most mid to high range GPU’s. Although there are improvements with the RTX 20 series cards, the GTX 1070 or 1080 should also be capable of reaching 144 FPS, although the quality settings may need turned down more. Investing in a 144Hz refresh rate monitor is also a must, otherwise that money spent on a superior GPU will essentially be going to waste. H/T: TrustedReviews

Struggling New York Knicks NBA team blames Fortnite for their lost season – Dexerto
Struggling New York Knicks NBA team blames Fortnite for their lost season One could come up with a number of reasons for why the New York Knicks NBA team is struggling, but according to their head coach, the main one is Fortnite Battle Royale. David Fizdale, who is in his first years as head coach of the Knicks, has blamed the popular battle royale title for his team’s struggles this season. The Knicks currently have a record of 11-47, a 0.190 winning percentage, good enough for dead last in the bottom of the Eastern Conference. “Fortnite, that’s my competitior right now,” Fizdale said (via The Athletic) “Fortnite is tougher than the Boston Celtics.” The 44 year old believes that his players are staying up way too late at night to play Fortnite, which is hurting their sleep schedules, causing them to become more irritable, reducing their reaction time, and ultimately affecting their performances as professional athletes. Fizdale may be onto something as some of his players, such as forward Kevin Knox and rookie Mitchell Robinson, have confessed that, at times, they’ve been addicted to the game. However, after reading a study about how blue light from screens can affect the body’s regular functions, they’ve have limited the amount they play and seen a resurgence of energy. “I kind of limit my time now, after I read that,” Robinson said. “It kind of makes sense. My energy level is better than it usually was.” Fizdale isn’t saying that his players should completely stop playing Fortnite. Quite the contrary, in fact, as he’d rather they play video games indoors rather than be out partying the night before games, especially when the team is on the road. He’s apparently even open to trying out the game himself, as he feels that getting into Fortnite will help him better connect with his players. However, he does want the players to take responsibility in making sure that their gaming habits don’t affect their performance in training and during games, which is ultimately what it’s all about.

Pros and streamers react as Fortnite Season 9 update vaults the Pump Shotgun – Dexerto
Pros and streamers react as Fortnite Season 9 update vaults the Pump Shotgun One of the most iconic weapons in Fortnite Battle Royale entered the vault upon release of Season 9, and many of the top streamers and pro players are far from happy. The pump shotgun has been present in Fortnite since the game’s inception, enjoying plenty of changes over the seasons, making Epic’s decision to vault the weapon all the more surprising. In a blog post, the developer revealed that the weapon accounted for over 26% of the eliminations in game and would be vaulted in order to allow players to explore additional ways of having fun using items such as the new combat shotgun. Fortnite pro players react to pump shotgun vaulted The biggest Fortnite star on the planet, Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney was quick to share his confusion given how important the weapon can be during competitive play in a short tweet shortly after the patch notes were revealed. Many of the competitive community were hoping to see a field-of-view slider added following the recent ban on stretched resolution and Team Liquid’s Ryan ‘Chap’ Chaplo stated the employee who decided to remove the pump should be fired. Nevertheless, a massive change like this, with ballers still not being removed, has proven to be another unpopular decision so far.

Streamers and pros slam Fortnite after “disappointing” v8.30 patch – Dexerto
Streamers and pros slam Fortnite after “disappointing” v8.30 patch Epic Games finally released the long-awaited v8.3 patch on April 10, but many of top Fortnite streamers and professionals are far from pleased after controversial changes were not reverted. The last major Fortnite update, v8.2, introduced a host of changes, including the removal of the siphon mechanic which was generally loved across the Fortnite community. Ever since, Epic Games have been spammed with calls to revert the update from casual players to the top streamers such as Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins, who believes that the developers have no idea what they are doing. Why are Fortnite streamers unhappy? Despite adding in reboot vans, siphon mechanics were not reintroduced in the latest update which means players are not granted health and materials on elimination as well as not benefitting from an increased harvesting rate so games can be seen as tedious – Ninja and Dr Lupo were quick to mock the game’s current state as a ‘farming simulator’. Team SoloMid streamer Daequan ‘Daequan’ Loco and Brett ‘Dakotaz’ Hoffman are two of the biggest names to have actively called for the changes to be reverted and have been left disappointed by the latest patch. I get nothing but disappointment 99% of the times I read patch notes for Fortnite :pensive: — Daequan (@TSM_Daequan) April 10, 2019 I hate to be that guy – I wanna be positive for all of you.. But these patch notes are extremely disappointing – I’ll try my best to smile. :shit: — dakotaz (@dakotaz) April 10, 2019 Why are Fortnite pro players unhappy? With the Fortnite World Cup qualifiers fast approaching, the competitive community were shocked to see Epic announce a ban on a stretched resolution which was implemented in the v8.3 patch, without adding a field of view slider that players have been desperate for, as well as fixes to major bugs. However, there is little in the patch notes to suggest that any significant issues have been resolved and it was revealed that the Baller would not be altered until a future update – meaning it will still be viable during the first week of qualifying. Team Liquid’s Ryan ‘Chap’ Chaplo and Noah ‘Vivid’ Wright both slammed the update while FaZe Clan member Nicolas ‘Thiefs’ Smorto and Ghost Gaming’s Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad were shocked that Epic Games have refused to listen to the community again. Same stuff, different week. We all get so excited for the chance at a good patch. and then just let down every time. like theres not even major bug fixes that people mention constantly… whatever. — Vivid (@VividFN) April 10, 2019 Just blows my mind how Fortnite isn’t listening to the community whatsoever. We all want what’s best for the game that we love, and it almost seems like they just don’t give a single fuck anymore. Sad. — FaZe Thiefs (@Thiefs) April 10, 2019 I don’t understand how every post Fortnite makes is just replied to with “”revert”” or “”L”

Streamer finds a way to get inside a truck in Fortnite using the new Shadow Stones – Dexerto
Streamer finds a way to get inside a truck in Fortnite using the new Shadow Stones The new Shadow Stones in Fortnite Battle Royale are seemingly allowing players to explore parts of the map that were previously inaccessible. The new consumable type item gives players a new ability called ‘Phase,’ which allows them to propel in the direction they are facing and pass through walls and objects. Twitch streamer ‘Teeqzy,’ who plays Fortnite competitively for Millenium, has used the Shadow Stones’ power to access the inside of one of the trucks in Fortnite. The specific truck he managed to get inside of was the overturned one just outside of Dusty Divot, in front of the warehouse structures. Interestingly enough, the interior of the cargo area of the truck is nothing spectacular. Its contents are empty and half of it is embedded within the ground, with shrubs and grass pointing through. Regardless, it is still rather interesting to be able to access parts of the map that were impossible to get into before, even it if is something as simple as the inside of a truck. It’s very likely that, as time passes by, more and more players will try to use this new ‘Phase’ ability of the Shadow Stones to try to explore the Fortnite map on a whole new level. Epic Games could even go the unexpected route and start putting loot and chests in the interior of trucks, rewarding players who are smart and aware enough to check. More on Shadow Stones Shadow Stones are a new type of consumable item that were added in Fortnite on September 27 via the v6.0 update, kick-starting Season 6 in the popular battle royale title. Found in ‘corrupted’ areas of the map, Shadow Stones temporarily apply ‘Shadow Form’ to players, allowing them to become invisible to enemies while stationary as well as gain increased movement speed, jump height, and fall damage immunity. Additionally, players who consume the item gain a new ability called Phase, which can be activated by pressing the Primary Fire button. Phase allows players to propel forward in the direction they are facing, as well as pass through objects.

Streamer CDN comes up with awesome Fortnite emote concept to taunt hiding opponents – Dexerto
Streamer CDN comes up with awesome Fortnite emote concept to taunt hiding opponents Popular Twitch streamer and YouTuber CDNThe3rd is well known for coming up with interesting and innovative Fortnite concepts, but his latest suggestion for a new emote might be his best yet. The online entertainer, real name Caesar Noriega, has seen impressive growth since switching to Fortnite Battle Royale in alte 2017, and he’s always willing to give his feedback and input on what could be changed or added to the game. On October 23 he did just that, suggesting an interesting new emote that would be perfect for taunting your opponents as they try to hide from you. Ceez would like to see a ‘Knocking’ emote that could be used on doors, buildings or player-built structures when another player is cowering away from your attacks: “Million Dollar emote idea. A ‘Knocking’ emote. Can be used to taunt/mess with people camping in buildings or their own built structures,” he explained on Twitter, even adding a GIF of the sort of action he has in mind. Of course, there’s no guarantee that Epic Games will consider adding it to the game, but they often take community feedback and popular concepts into consideration as they work on producing new content. Streamer discovers players can survive falls in Fortnite by grappling – Dexerto
Streamer discovers players can survive falls in Fortnite by grappling Reddit user and Twitch streamer Fluffyox uploaded a video that revealed an major development for Fortnite players. In the video, Fluffyox jumps from a structure he’d built at the game’s maximum height and shoots out a grappling hook just before hitting the ground – miraculously surviving the fall. He went on to describe his exact methods in a Reddit post, where he had actually done the math to verify the technique. In the post, he states that players should aim to grapple less than 45 degrees from a horizontal surface, which will give their characters an upward trajectory and cancel out their downward momentum. He came to this conclusion by calculating the approximate amount of tiles needed to pull off the stunt, both vertically and horizontally. “Vertical distance contributes less to the range than horizontal distance,” he wrote. “Pure Horizontal range about 6.2 tiles, while pure vertical range is 7.2…. If you are out of range of the target surface when you fire (reticle shows a red X when fired), you can still successfully grapple if you move within range by the time the grapple reaches the max distance.” In essence, he stated that players can live through falls from any height in the game by grappling toward areas 3.5-4.5 tiles away and 3.5-4.5 tiles high. Of course, players should time their grapple just before they hit the ground to ensure their safety. This trick could come in handy the next time players go for a tumble – but be sure to do the math ahead of time.

Strange Fortnite Season 5 quicksand bug is giving players God Mode – Dexerto
Strange Fortnite Season 5 quicksand bug is giving players God Mode Epic GamesEpic Games have a problem on their hands already with Fortnite Season 5, Chapter 2’s quicksand feature, as players are actually using it to get God Mode and become invisible. The new feature is quite similar to that of props, added in Season 10 of the game’s first chapter. These allowed members of the community to hide in different forms around the map, though this time you can instead become a moving ball of sand right at the heart of the map. There’s a problem, though. If you’re lucky enough, you can actually become completely out of sight from your opponents, which seems to be the battle royale’s latest game-breaking bug. Fortnite Season 5 quicksand bug The issue was spotted on December 2, which is the day the patch went live to kick off Season 5. While many players have been delighted by much of the map changes, which includes the inclusion of The Mandalorian and his ship right at the heart of the island, quicksand is actually proving to be divisive. On one hand, it can be hilarious if the bug works in your favour, but try taking somebody down in God Mode. It’s not easy! As seen in a post from iFireMonkey – one of the game’s popular data miners – players have been disappearing or given unlimited health. Not ideal for a game where wins are decided in single gunfights. For all we know, many Victory Royales have been cost by this issue in-game. At the time of writing, the quicksand bug is not on the official Fortnite Trello Board, which suggests the dev team hasn’t yet spotted the problem. In response to the post, one player said: “This happened to me earlier today. I was getting repeatedly shot inside my sealed 1×1. I was flabbergasted.” Another posted: “Happened to me too. I was just sitting in a 1×1 build and healing and suddenly my wall started to break. It kept breaking again and again so I used a shockwave to get the fuck out of there.” According to the thread, this is impacting PC, mobile, and those on consoles. That means that not only is it making it difficult to see enemies from afar, but for all you know they’re right inside the square you’re building on. Hopefully, this problem is resolved swiftly.

Stranger Things crossover event might be coming soon to Fortnite Season 9 – Dexerto
Stranger Things crossover event might be coming soon to Fortnite Season 9 Netflix / Epic GamesA new building introduced with Fortnite Season 9 features a location seen in Netflix’s Stranger Things, suggesting a crossover could be in the cards. With the launch of Season 9, we saw a couple of locations see a serious revamp. The two locations that received the biggest changes were Tilted Towers and Retail Row. Tilted Towers and Retail Row were destroyed at the end of Season 8 and became reborn as Neo Tilted and Mega Mall respectively. While Tilted was able to recover quite nicely, Mega Mall is pretty much a shell of Retail Row but there are some interesting new locations to look at here. Eagle-eyed fans were able to point out a new shop called “Scoops Ahoy” which has the same name and logo from the hit Netflix series Stranger Things. You can take a look at the location for yourself in the screenshot from Reddit below. Does this mean a crossover is in the works? Just because we see the game paying homage to Stranger Things doesn’t automatically mean a crossover is in the works. With this new update, John Wick’s house has also been added and leaked challenges have revealed there is a good chance a crossover event will be held. Although Epic Games haven’t said anything, it seems pretty clear ‘The Reaper’ from the Season 3 Battle Pass is a John Wick skin, meaning this event was a long time coming. Even if this John Wick event is happening, that doesn’t mean a Stranger Things crossover can’t happen as well. It seems like too much of a coincidence in this case to ignore. Season 3 of Stranger Things is coming in July so Epic Games could definitely be gearing up for an event around the launch of it.

Strange Fortnite map change may hint at removal of Pleasant Park – Dexerto
Strange Fortnite map change may hint at removal of Pleasant Park Epic GamesFortnite fans who have visited Pleasant Park may have noticed a major change to the area, with some players suggesting that it could spell the end for one of the game’s most popular locations. The first season of Fortnite’s second chapter is rapidly coming to a close, with the second season set to kick off in early February. With the new season, and likely a major update starting to creep closer, fans of Epic’s popular battle royale title are earnestly searching for any clues as to what may come next, and some believe that Pleasant Park isn’t long for this world after some players saw a different version of the location while playing the game. The town, which has been part of Fortnite since the very beginning, was covered in snow over the festive period, but when the cold finally cleared and it all melted, Pleasant Park had a significantly different look compared to the other named locations in the game. Following the melting of the snow, some Fortnite fans spotted an odd change at Pleasant Park, with much of the location covered in dust or dirt. Large parts of the road that cuts through the town, alongside with areas of grass and the pavements were no longer visible, while only a couple of parking spots and road markings were visible through the covering. This change first appeared on Friday, January 10, spotted by a Twitter user named LuTrex, with the picture going viral, receiving thousands of likes and hundreds of comments from people speculating about what it could mean. At the time of writing, the dust only appears randomly for some players, with many reporting that they hadn’t seen it at all. I noticed this in Myth’s stream earlier, idk if y’all did too.. but Pleasant Park is all dusty after the snow melted.. we don’t know if it’s a visual glitch or we’ll finally say goodbye to Pleasant Park. (thanks to @LuTrex_ for the pic) pic.twitter.com/dA73DdkvTQ — HYPEX – Fortnite Leaks & News (@HYPEX) January 10, 2020 With hype about Season 2 already starting to build, many believe that this is a sign that Pleasant Park will disappear, although nothing has been confirmed by developers Epic Games. Some believe that it may just be a visual glitch, something that leaker HYPEX admits could be a possibility, but many have pointed out the timing of this situation starting, appearing soon after the removal of the snow, and towards the end of the new season. Whether Pleasant Park will finally disappear from the map remains to be seen, but Fortnite fans will definitely be keeping an eye on the legendary location in the build-up to the new season.

Strange Fortnite bug lets players edit through multiple builds – Dexerto
Strange Fortnite bug lets players edit through multiple builds Epic GamesA Fortnite player has uncovered a strange new bug that lets them edit through multiple built levels despite being stood directly under a build. Even though Fortnite Chapter 2 re-injected some hype from players that had gone missing towards the end of seasons nine and ten, the new instalment of the popular battle royale title hasn’t been without its faults. Players have registered complaints about issues with the new mechanics – mainly the player carry bug – as well as the long-standing trap items, and even being able to hop on a zip line while being miles below or above. Yet, another new problem has reared its head regarding the game’s building, giving players the chance to edit layers despite having built-in between them. It was pointed out by Reddit user I_dun_did_da_reserch, as they posted a demonstration of the bug to the FortniteCompetitive subreddit, questioning “what the f**is this?” In the post, the Redditor was able to perfectly edit their way through a layer of their sky-high build despite standing one level below an already-built floor. I_dun_did_da_reserch’s editing capabilities were not limited in any way, though, as they were able to turn the full floor into a half-wall with ease. While the post didn’t pick up much traction, the Fortnite fan was still left questioning why the problem was happening in-game – offering up a further explanation to one commenter who had seemingly been confused about the clip. “I can grab it from just about any angle so long as I’m pressed up against the floor above me,” I_dun_did_da_reserch explained. Comment byu/I_dun_did_da_reserch from discussion inFortniteCompetitive While phasing through an opponents build and claiming walls are techniques used by Fortnite players, this glitch takes that to the next level – though, it’s unknown if actually works on enemy walls. As of writing, Epic Games haven’t yet picked up on the issue but if it rears its head in the future and becomes a bigger problem they’ll probably have to make a change at some point.

Strange Fortnite exploit lets you use every skin possible – Dexerto
Strange Fortnite exploit lets you use every skin possible Epic GamesFortnite players have found an unusual exploit with Mystique’s emote that lets them try out and equip any skins in the battle royale – including ones that they haven’t even purchased. The fourth season of Fortnite’s Chapter 2, which was revealed to be completely Marvel-themed, introduced popular superheroes like Thor, Wolverine, and more as playable characters. Among the new Marvel skins was Mystique from the X-Men series, who is known for her ability to shapeshift into anyone she meets, but players have now found a way to abuse her ability in Fortnite to use any skins they want. While those with the Mystique skin and Shapeshifter emote can temporarily mirror opponents with other Fortnite skins, a new trick has been found to make it last much longer than originally intended. Fortnite YouTuber Glitch King revealed that fans could try out new skins for as long as they please with a strange glitch in the game’s creative mode. The YouTuber explained that anyone with the Season 4 skin and emote would have to join a Creative Mode game with another player, and then, after using the shapeshifter emote to mirror the other character, they would simply need to exit to the main hub. After spawning into another match, Glitch King revealed that the other player’s skin would remain equipped even if you take any damage in-game. However, this glitch does not last forever and it will reset you back to your default character once you are eventually killed. It is also worth noting that, as of now, this unusual exploit only works in Creative Mode but it can still give players the chance to test any skins they are thinking of getting. Although it does not affect Fortnite’s public matches, it is still an exploit that Epic Games did not intend to release and it is likely that they will be looking to patch this strange bug in a future update.

Mysterious Storm Flip item revealed for Fortnite Battle Royale – Dexerto
Mysterious Storm Flip item revealed for Fortnite Battle Royale Epic GamesA new Storm Flip item has appeared in the Fortnite Battle Royale news feed ahead of the soon-to-be-released v9.20 update. Epic Games have, for the longest time, used their in-game news feed to reveal new additions to the battle royale ahead of the update that will bring it to players. The previously leaked Burst SMG was a part of the May 28 feed, before being released on May 29 in the v9.10 content update. In their weekly update of the news, Epic have now revealed a mysterious new item that is expected to release in the upcoming v9.20 update. The Storm Flip item appeared on the in-game news feed on June 3, alongside an advertisement for a new set of skins in the Item Shop and a warning about account scams. The item was showcased as a small potion-like bottle with a lightning bolt engraved through the middle and sparks appearing at the top. “Unleash the storm or tame it. The choice is yours!” reads the description, leaving fans with a small hint about the item’s ability. However, data miners have not yet gone to work on this week’s update, so it’s unknown just what the item is set to do. Considering the “Unleash the storm or tame it” description, some players have already speculated that the item might just work like stink bombs – being thrown at players to cause storm damage, even if they’re inside the safe zone. Another popular theory is that players will be able to consume the item like a shield and become immune to storm damage for a set amount of time. Yet, that is purely speculation thanks to the lack of information given about the item outside out of its appearance on the in-game news feed. The v9.20 update is expected to go live on Wednesday, June 5 and it remains to be seen if Epic drops the new item as a major part of the patch.
