As a result, he quit the game in a fit of rage after an entire lobby of stream snipers infiltrated his location. Here is the sequence of events that transpired during his most recent stream, as well as the reactions of his fans. Jynxzi gets a taste of Fortnite OG as he rage quits after being stream sniped Renowned Twitch streamer Jynxzi decided to play the new season OG of Fortnite on his stream and earn the coveted Victory Royale in a public Battle Royale match. The streamer encountered an entire lobby of stream snipers as he approached Frosty Flights with the intention of seizing an X-4 Stormwing aircraft. Being the quick one, he jumped in the plane, only to realize a stream sniper was seated on the wing and hit the Griddy emote on him. Following this, each stream sniper initiated fire on the aircraft and pursued it in their respective planes, aiming to down it. Meanwhile, Jynxzi attempted to throw the player from his plane wing. Despite persistent attempts to avoid doing so, Jynxzi ultimately exited the aircraft and was killed shortly thereafter by a stream sniper. Josh Hutcherson admits he’s not even seen Oppenheimer because of Fortnite obsession – Dexerto
Josh Hutcherson admits he’s not even seen Oppenheimer because of Fortnite obsession Epic Games/NBCFive Nights at Freddy’s star Josh Hutcherson has admitted to missing movies like Oppenheimer in cinemas due to his obsession with Fortnite. Here’s more on what they said. Over the last several years, Fortnite has exploded in popularity, becoming a cultural phenomenon in its own right. Players are captivated by the Battle Royale title, which has a significant popularity, due to its frequent collaborations with prominent media such as films, anime, video games, and more. Hollywood stars like Josh Hutcherson (from Five Nights at Freddy’s) and Zack Snyder seem to have joined the ranks of the game’s many professional and casual gamers and have publicly expressed their love for the Epic Games title. In a recent live interview for his new film The Beekeeper, Hutcherson revealed their obsession with Fortnite. Furthermore, he reportedly confessed that he did not watch Oppenheimer since he exclusively played Fortnite during his free time. Josh Hutcherson admits he only plays Fortnite in his free time Actor Josh Hutcherson recently made an appearance at Joshua Horowitz’s live interview show where the two had a chat about the former’s recent two film outings, FNAF and The Beekeeper. During the interview, Hutcherson spoke about how he researched the FNAF fanbase and the game before acting in the movie and how he’s fond of video games. When Horowitz asked him if he’s seen Oppenheimer, Maestro, Past Lives, and other phenomenal movies nominated during the ongoing award season, Hutcherson admitted he hasn’t gotten around to watching them. He added, “I haven’t seen any of those films and it might be because of Fortnite. I live under a rock. I just stare at walls (in my free time) and play Fortnite.” Several fans of the actor and Fortnite player base alike were shocked as they believed they might have encountered the actor in a Battle Royale match sometime. One such fan said, “Imagine getting boxed and griddyed on by Josh Hutcherson.” Another chimed in, “I wonder if I’ve ever played randoms with him.” A third user added, “Mans needs to put down Fortnite and catch up on some fine cinema.” A fourth one commented, “We need a Collab between him and Fortnite.” While the community can’t be amused enough by Hutcherson dropping Fortnite as the main reason behind his backlog of films he needs to watch, they ended up dropping yet another Whistle meme in the comment section.

John Wick event leaked in Fortnite Season 9 for upcoming Parabellum film – Dexerto
John Wick event leaked in Fortnite Season 9 for upcoming Parabellum film Epic Games / Fortnite FilmsFortnite Battle Royale players might well be able to grind their way through some brand new John Wick challenges in Season 9, if potentially leaked information is to be believed. Epic Games added their version of Wick to the game for the first time in Season 3 as Battle Pass exclusive content and there’s a chance that a new selection of challenges – associated with the character – could be headed to the battle royale game. This opens up the potential opportunity of fans being able to jump into Fortnite Battle Royale and take up bounty style missions to celebrate the arrival of the new John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum movie, which is set to premiere on May 17. The leaked information has come from two of the most prolific Fortnite Battle Royale leakers, FortTory and Lucas7Yoshi, who have correctly discovered the upcoming arrival of new content on numerous occasions. The two dataminers have shared details about the possible upcoming challenge list on Twitter, including the name of the tasks – which will apparently be called ‘Wick’s Bounty” and they have speculated that a brand new limited time mode – shaped around the character – will be added as well. FortTory revealed the following challenges, which may be available in the near future for players to enjoy and could require players to not only deal damage to opponents with specific weapons, but also collect gold coins as well. The leaked challenge list can be found below, but it’s worth noting that it’s still yet to be confirmed: Win a match of Wick’s Bounty (1) – Play matches of Wick’s Bounty (7) – Collect Gold Coins (150) – Collect Gold Coins in a single match (25) – Deal damage with the Combat Shotgun (500) – Deal damage with the Tactical Assault Rifle (500) – – Eagled eyed Fortnite fans have also spotted what looks like John Wick’s house has been added to Fortnite Battle Royale, too, which could be another indication regarding another potential crossover in Season 9. However, nothing has been announced by Epic Games as of yet. Until then, best to take things with a pinch of salt, even if they are interesting.

John Cena looking for more ways to get involved in Fortnite after successful skin launch – Dexerto
John Cena looking for more ways to get involved in Fortnite after successful skin launch The WWE superstar and world-renowned celebrity John Cena is looking for more ways to get involved in Fortnite after the overwhelmingly positive reception of his skin. Fortnite recently brought the world of WWE professional wrestling into the infamous battle royale by giving John Cena his very own skin. The leader of the Fruit Loop Troop came with two styles, a pickaxe, and his iconic U Can’t C Me emote. To say the cosmetic set was well received would be an understatement. The internet practically exploded with positivity as players gushed over the superstar’s in-game costume. And while John Cena is just the latest in a line of celebrities to make it into Fortnite as a skin, he doesn’t plan on stopping there. We might just see him take up a role alongside his longtime wrestling rival Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as a leading character in Fortnite’s storyline. John Cena wants more from Fortnite A few days after the skin’s release on July 28, John Cena took to Twitter to express his gratitude for the positivity surrounding his skin. “Overwhelmed with the response from the Fortnite community,” he wrote. “and so grateful to now have “skin” in the game. Already looking for more ways to be involved! Thank you!” Fortnite has seen many copyrighted characters get involved in the game’s storyline. From an entirely Marvel-themed season to ‘The Rock’ becoming one of the main characters making appearances in several seasons. This year, John Cena has dived into pop culture exploring video games, television, Twitter, and NFTs. This is the superstar’s attempt to “learn about the world” and it was only a matter of time before he – or one of his many characters – made it into Fortnite. It would be interesting to see how John Cena would fit into Fortnite’s story. Could he resume his role as Dwayne Johnson’s rival playing the big bad Geno, or would his anti-hero character Peacemaker be the star of a season. Only time will tell if Cena has enough Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect to make it big in Fortnite, but his massive debut should speak for itself.

John Cena finally teases Fortnite skin months after Peacemaker collab leaks – Dexerto
John Cena finally teases Fortnite skin months after Peacemaker collab leaks Epic Games / HBO / DC ComicsIs John Cena coming to Fortnite? Months after a new DC Comics crossover leaked online, the WWE legend and star of Peacemaker himself has now teased his arrival in the Epic Games battle royale. The next big mainstream celebrity appears to be on the way to Fortnite. Following close behind The Rock’s arrival as The Foundation, John Cena is seemingly next to drop in. With Chapter 3 Season 1 now in focus, exciting bundles are appearing in the store almost every week. Some are crossovers with popular video games while others even cast a spotlight on a few musicians. Next up could very well be a fresh TV show collaboration, if leaks hold true. Months after a potential Suicide Squad bundle leaked, Cena himself has now teased that Peacemaker could soon be dropping into Fortnite. RUMOR: We might get another Suicide Squad collab! The Reddit insider who privately leaked the Bloodsport collab before its announcement also mentioned Peacemaker as a collab alongside Bloodsport. Peacemaker’s show comes out in January, so we MIGHT get a skin of him in January. pic.twitter.com/nDtWwh54VZ — Shiina (@ShiinaBR) August 22, 2021 Following the success of 2021’s Suicide Squad reboot, Peacemaker’s story was fleshed out in its own TV show on HBO Max. While Bloodsport got his own skin back in August to promote the movie, and Harley Quinn has received multiple designs over the years, no other characters from the Suicide Squad made it into Fortnite — until now. Cena’s Instagram page is full of speculation at the best of times. The decorated WWE star shares random images “without explanation”. However, a February 16 post needed little guesswork from the community. A picture of Fortnite’s Chapter 3 cinematic featured on his Instagram, teasing his seemingly imminent arrival in the game. No doubt it’s indicative of a Peacemaker skin, opposed to a wrestling bundle with a regular John Cena design. View this post on Instagram For the time being, there’s little else to go off. We still don’t have a clear release date in mind for Peacemaker’s entry in Fortnite, nor do we know what else may be included in the upcoming bundle. Jack Quaid explains why The Boys Fortnite skins “need to be a thing” – Dexerto
Jack Quaid explains why The Boys Fortnite skins “need to be a thing” Amazon/Epic GamesThe Boys star Jack Quaid really wants to see his show represented in Fortnite with skins in the near future. Fortnite has had an incredible amount of success with its crossover event skins ranging from Marvel and DC superheroes, Star Wars characters, and even Twitch streamers such as Tyler “Ninja” Blevins However, not every superhero franchise has had its time to shine in Epic’s battle royale extravaganza yet, with Amazon’s The Boys still relatively new to the scene despite being extremely popular. That could all change if Jack Quaid, who plays series protagonist Hughie Campbell, has any say in the matter. In an interview with Comicbook, the actor explained how he really wants to see The Boys skins in the game, but understood there are some legal matters that would need to be attended to. “There are so many legal things to figure out with that, but I’ve been spending a lot of my time playing Fortnite with Jessie T Usher who plays A-Train, in quarantine,” he said. “And every time I play, I’m like, ‘This is perfect for our characters, just for skins.’” “It just makes so much sense. It makes so much sense,” he added, further pushing the idea. “It needs to be a thing.” This all said, even if The Boys skins don’t end up coming to Fortnite, he still thinks the franchise should be adapted into a video game. “I think you could make many different games out of The Boys franchise, because there’s a game you can make it all about A-Train, you can make it all about The Boys and make it like a tactical, first-person shooter, third-person shooter type of thing,” he suggested. Furthermore, he even pondered that Rocksteady Studios be the ones to make the game. “I just think the different kinds of gameplay you could get from a video game would be really cool,” he added. “Get the guys that did Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and all that stuff. Get them.” Read More: Can you open Fortnite’s Helicarrier vault? – Only time will tell what the future holds for The Boys and if there is a crossover with Fortnite, but as the show grows increasingly popular the odds of that happening seem ever more likely.

Jetpacks Are Officially Coming to Fortnite Battle Royale – Dexerto
Jetpacks Are Officially Coming to Fortnite Battle Royale It looks like all the rumors about Jetpack finally coming to Fortnite Battle Royale were true as a new in-game message has now appeared to confirm it. Jetpacks were teased for Fortnite Battle Royale back in February of 2018 during Season 3 but the idea was eventually left at the wayside due to a “design flaw” that the developers said they needed to work on. The idea of Jetpacks in the massively popular Battle Royale game has been met with both excitement and apprehension from fans as they consider just how powerful it could be in the right hands. News of the item’s potential inclusion in an update has popped up on a number of occasions ever since but nothing was set in stone until May 21st when a new in-game message appeared. Read More: Epic Games Pledge to Put a Staggering $100 million Into Competitive Fortnite in the 2018-2019 Season – It looks like the Jetpack will initially be a “limited time item”, presumably meaning that it will be included in the next Limited Time Mode but perhaps simply placed into the standard game for a short while as the developers figure out the community reaction. The only information given is “Take the fight to new heights”, which doesn’t really tell us anything more than we already knew. The Jetpacks should become available in an update some time in the coming week and we’ll keep you updated on everything when they do. How would you like to see Epic Games implement the Jetpacks? Personally, we hope that they can’t be used permanently as we want building to still be an aspect of the game.

It’s time for Fortnite to reclaim title as king of live events – Dexerto
It’s time for Fortnite to reclaim title as king of live events Epic GamesSince the beginning of Chapter 3, Epic Games has implemented a strategy of introducing new gameplay and lore into each Fortnite season. However, this approach has inadvertently relegated the significance of Live Events to a secondary role. As a result, I’m not alone in finding myself growing weary of this pattern, and eager for age of amazing live events. Since its release in 2017, Fortnite has consistently ranked among the most popular Battle Royale games. I’ll never forget the day the official gameplay trailer with the Joywave song “Destruction” and the Fortnite: Battle Royale logo was released. While I, and many other players, have vivid memories of our first moments in the game, there was always one element that made Fortnite stand out from the other Battle Royale games at the time: the live events. With Chapter 1, Fortnite adopted a seasonal model, mimicking that of other persistent multiplayer games; each season concluded with a major live event that added to the story established in the preceding season. Those events became a staple in the gaming community and Epic continued their successful run for several seasons – until now. There has been a significant drop in the number of Fortnite seasons and live events since the beginning of Chapter 3, which has significantly dampened enthusiasm and provided few reasons for regular viewers to keep tuning in. While Fortnite’s USP is dwindling, it’s time for the game to retake its crown as the undisputed champion of live events. Why are Fortnite live events so important to players? When the first rocket was launched from the island in Chapter 1, Fortnite’s first live event began. That anomaly on the map was what sparked the story arc involving The Seven and The Zero Point, ultimately shifting to the Imagined Order. Since then, Epic has given players a hand in shaping the lore by holding live events to usher in each new season and give them something to look forward to. From the iconic “Rocket Launch” event to the mesmerizing “Marshmello Concert,” Fortnite set the standard for what live events in gaming could achieve. I vividly recall how long the queue times were to get in to experience Travis Scott’s Astronomical and the Galactus live event (The Devourer of Worlds). It was reported that 15 million players, with the Marvel heroes battled Galactus on the island, while another 12 million grooved when Travis Scott performed. As a respite from the usual sweaty gameplay on the island or the continuous struggle for Victory Royales, these events therefore, have a direct impact on player count and engagement. It’s high time for Fortnite to bring back live events Fortnite’s first two chapters had a higher player count, and this was boosted by the live events that were recurring until mid 2022, directly related to the game’s lore. The decline of the player count coincided with Epic taking a break from seasonal live events. It was brilliant entertainment, watching The Agency, Imagined Order, The Last Reality, and The Seven as they fought over control of Zero Point in Chapter 2. But, the passion this instilled in players was extinguished once Chapter 3 started and was trimmed to four seasons with only two live events. As Fortnite’s Party Royale and Creative modes have developed, the game’s live events have moved to creator-made islands, degrading the quality and experience compared to live events that really involved gameplay and put players in the driver’s seat. During the current Chapter 4 Season 3, Fortnite is frustrating its player base by switching up the lore every season with a new perspective, and without a live event. The same can be said for the annual Summer, Winter or Easter Events. At this point, it appears Epic just wants players to invest most of their time playing the game and grinding quests for rewards. However, veterans who have been playing from the game’s infancy believe that it has to return to its roots, rather than trying to compete with the mechanics and reward systems of other games. Fortnite can rekindle the magic that made it a trailblazer in the first place by learning from past successes, embracing innovation, engaging with top-tier artists and businesses, boosting player activity, and providing a steady stream of unique events.

It’s possible to shoot through walls in Fortnite using a simple building trick – Dexerto
It’s possible to shoot through walls in Fortnite using a simple building trick A Reddit user has found a possible glitch in Fortnite Battle Royale that allows players to shoot through walls using a brick door. While structures built in Fortnite might look to have spaces between pieces of wood or between bricks, it’s generally not possible to actually shoot through a built without building a window in which to shoot through. The latest trick discovered on Reddit, however, seems to allow players to stand behind the full cover of a structure and fully shoot through using a specific edit and material combination. Reddit user ‘CleverD3vil’ explains the trick in a thorough video in which he tests a variety of different weapons to see which ones are able to utilize the new strategy. Completing the trick is quite easy as players start off by building two walls on top of one another and then editing a door into the top wall. Once the wall is built, the player simply aims through the crack between the bottom of the door and, instead of being stopped by the structure, the shots are able to travel right through. It looks as though it only works with brick since there is a clear space under the door, whereas a door in a wooden or metal structure stops any bullets from going through Not all weapons are created equal here, though, as ones with more bloom than others can’t benefit as much from the trick. Everything from the SCAR and Scoped Assault Rifle to the Heavy Sniper Rifle work just fine, with the Dual Pistols and SMGs suffering from too much bloom to be effective. Given the nature of the trick, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Epic Games step in and make some changes as they have shown a willingness to do in the past with similar glitches or exploits.

It’s now possible to ‘bunny-hop’ in Fortnite – Dexerto
It’s now possible to ‘bunny-hop’ in Fortnite A new mechanic has been found in Fortnite Battle Royale that allows players to ‘bunny-hop’ at a high speed. Bunny-hopping is a nickname given to a technique in gaming that involves players jumping and skidding across the ground, considerably increasing the speed of their in-game movement. Several players have posted info and clips of this new mechanic in Fortnite, which seems to have appeared in the game very recently. YouTuber ‘Villex’ showcased the new bunny-hopping in a video, while also explaining the basics of how to get the hang of the trick. According to the video, the key is to use some sort of movement item to trigger the bunny-hopping, such as a grappler, shockwave grenades, launch pads etc… Right before the on-screen character hits the floor, the player needs to press their jump key, which should be bound to the ‘Mouse Wheel Up/Down’ button in the settings. The video notes that up to three bunny-hops can be done before the character resets its jumping, however Reddit user ‘Drmadman72’ claims that more hops can be accomplished if the character uses a glider to gain momentum. In another video on Reddit, user ‘BrocoriBoi’ demonstrated how this bunny-hopping technique can also be effectively performed while the character is in the Phase mode, which is achieved by consuming Shadow Stones. As of now, it is not clear whether this mechanic is just a glitch, or was intentionally added by Epic Games to increase the movement skill gap in Fortnite. If it is a glitch, Epic will likely remove it in an upcoming update, especially since it has been thrown into the spotlight.

It Looks Like Fortnite Could Be Coming to Apple TV – Dexerto
It Looks Like Fortnite Could Be Coming to Apple TV A new Fortnite leak seems to suggest that the massively popular game could even be available to play on Apple TV in the near future. The information comes from the well known @StormLeaks account on Twitter and appears to show data regarding Apple’s tvOS in Fortnite’s code. tvOS is is the operating system developed by Apple for all Apple TV digital media players from the fourth generation onwards and is exclusive to Apple TV. With this in mind, StormLeaks’ assertion that “Fortnite is coming to Apple TVs” certainly seems to hold some merit. https://twitter.com/StormLeaks/status/1031717787000090625 With Fortnite already being available on PC/Mac, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, iOS, Android and Switch, it is easily one of the most accessible games on the planet. This accessibility has been one of the many keys to the game’s incredible success in 2018 and Epic Games seems to be on a mission to make it available on just about any product that can be used for gaming! Apple TV is a digital media player and microconsole that gives users access to everything from iTunes and Netflix to podcasts and games. However, the idea of trying to use the Siri remote to play a game with as many complexities and mechanics as Fortnite is undoubtedly a daunting one for even the most seasoned gamer. Apple does offer an official “Nimbus Wireless Gaming Controller” developed by SteelSeries but the ~$50 price tag attached to is likely to take some of the appeal away from Fortnite Battle Royale’s otherwise free-to-play experience.

It looks like a Super Bowl LIII crossover event is coming to Fortnite – Dexerto
It looks like a Super Bowl LIII crossover event is coming to Fortnite Epic GamesLeaks from the Fortnite files suggests that a crossover event dedicated to Super Bowl LIII is coming to the game. The Super Bowl will be contested between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams on February 3 in Atlanta, Georgia and it looks like there will be some representation of the game in Fortnite. It wouldn’t be the first time that Epic Games and the NFL have teamed up. Football skins were released in the game back in November 2018 and the battle royale has been represented at the Pro Bowl – the NFL’s all-star week – in Orlando from January 23 to 26. Now, it appears they are taking the next step and Super Bowl-themed content is being added. Files found in the game following the v7.30 update show the official Super Bowl LIII logo and also a hint an NFL spin-off on the Team Rumble limited time mode and new football-themed cosmetics. Posted to Twitter by numerous leakers, ‘NFL Rumble’ will follow the same premise as Team Rumble but with a gridiron twist. The description of the mode states: “Represent one of the two teams from the Big Game by fighting for the Victory Royale in an action-packed mode where the first team to get 100 eliminations wins!” New LTM: NFL Rumble: Represent one of the two teams from the Big Game by fighting for the Victory Royale in an action-packed mode where the first team to get 100 eliminations wins! — s1l0x – Fortnite Leaks & News (@s1l0x) January 29, 2019 That’s not all. There will also be changes to the football field that is currently at Pleasant Park with leaked game files also showing NFL branding for the area. Players will also be able to purchase Super Bowl variants of the NFL in-game skins, letting you represent your team with their jerseys from the big game. There is a ‘Football Toy’ in the game files, seemingly giving players a Football item similar to the Golfing and Soccer emotes that are already in the game. While there is no set date or time for the release just yet, but seeing as the game is on Sunday, the additions won’t be too far off. Keep an eye on Dexerto for the all the Fortnite breaking news and updates.

IShowSpeed gets fooled by fake “Icon Series” Fortnite skin and emotes – Dexerto
IShowSpeed gets fooled by fake “Icon Series” Fortnite skin and emotes YouTube: IShowSpeed / TrimixYouTuber and streamer IShowSpeed reacted live to an incredibly impressive unofficial Icon Series Fortnite skin with custom emotes. Although streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins was the first “Icon Series” skin released for Fortnite, plenty of other creators have since been added to the game. Considering Fortnite’s massive reach and popularity, tons of creators would love the opportunity to be featured in the game officially. It seems IShowSpeed is one of those creators after he reacted to an unofficial “Icon Series” skin live on stream. IShowSpeed reacts to fake “Icon Series” skin IShowSpeed found out about the skin after a viewer donated a message that claimed his “official Fortnite Icon Series skin got leaked,” which caused the creator to excitedly search it out. Upon clicking the link and seeing the skin, the streamer was left stunned at the quality of the skin, eventually screaming “No way we in Fortnite!” Apparently, IShowSpeed believed the donator’s claim that his skin was “leaked,” and said, “Chat this is not even fake either.” The skin featured a handful of costumes, including a white tank top, shorts, and black sneakers, a Skin with only blue shorts from the clip where he set off fireworks inside his bedroom, and one based on Portugal’s soccer jersey. The content creator then excitedly asked if the skin “danced,” and told chat that they had to add an emote with the skin. Immediately after asking the question, the video showed the skin performing emotes referencing IShowSpeed’s song “Shake,” as well as an emote based on Cristiano Ronaldo. Unfortunately for IShowSpeed, this was all an elaborate ruse set up by another YouTube creator by the name of Trimix, who modeled, textured, and mo-capped the entire skin showcase video. Naturally, Epic Games would not simply create an Icon Series skin for Fortnite without the creator’s prior knowledge, but whether or not IShowSpeed was playing his reaction up for content remains unclear. At the very least, the content creator got a taste of what it would be like if he ever had the opportunity to collaborate with the battle royale in the future.

Issues with Winter Royale and how they affect competitive Fortnite | The Fortnite Podcast Ep 56 – Dexerto
Issues with Winter Royale and how they affect competitive Fortnite | The Fortnite Podcast Ep 56 The currently ongoing $1 million Winter Royale tournament has predictably been at the center of attention amongst the Fortnite battle royale community. The Winter Royale is the first ever competition in Fortnite to be open to all players, and hundreds of thousands from the European and North American regions participated in the qualifying stages held this past weekend. With only 200 players have qualified for the next stages, a vast majority were left out, leaving many with a bitter taste in their mouth from all of the issues that plagued the tournament. In Episode 56 of the renowned Fortnite Podcast, experts 2LoudTX and MonsterDFace discuss these issues and how they affect the game from a competitive side of things. Their special guest for this week was none other than Morgausse, one of the better competitive players in the scene and the champion of the Summer Skirmish competition finals at PAX West. One of the major topics of their discussion was the scoring format of the Winter Royale Qualifiers, which awards points to players for getting a certain number of eliminations and a certain placing each match. This prompted many to leave matches before they ended, as long as they got points for their eliminations, in order to get more matches under their belt. “A very aggressive player can absolutely ruin your game because if their gameplan is get in, get elims, and back out, and you’re playing for the dub, you just took your time to farm and all that, that guy is absolutely going to ruin your experience!” That can obviously be frustrating for many players because everyone has contrasting styles of gameplay and if total matches played isn’t a factor in the scoring then the more aggressive and elimination-minded players have an advantage. “Talking about the format, if they set it to a certain number of games, or even if you couldn’t back out until the game is over, that would stop a lot of these W queues,” proposed Morgausse. Read More: Everything you need to know about the new modes – Team Rumble LTM and Alchemist Pop-Up Cup – Other topics discussed in Episode 56 include recent updates that have cast the community into a state of disagreement, such as the removal of glider re-deploy. The trio also discussed Morgausse’s incredible journey to becoming the Summer Skirmish champion and all of the obstacles he faced along the way. The entirety of Ep. 56 can be heard using the player below, or by visiting the Fortnite Podcast website HERE.

Is Wailing Woods dying ahead of Fortnite Season 8? – Dexerto
Is Wailing Woods dying ahead of Fortnite Season 8? Background: R3AL, YouTubeFortnite Season 8 was always going to bring about a lot of new changes to the map, but some players have already been left shocked after spotting that some major damage has been done at Wailing Woods. The Woods, which of one of few original Fortnite points of interest to still be included in the map, has been at the forefront of new season speculation for quite some time – with several leaks suggesting that the earthquake event is set to leave it in ruins. Now, despite those leaks being confirmed in any way, some fans seem to be seeing the evidence unfold in front of their very eyes. The trees had started to rot on February 25, and now players are not only finding ash appear around the destination, but trees seem to be starting to lose their leaves as well. Reddit user erlendgamer37 posted the following video to the Fortnite BR subreddit, which seems to show clouds of ash appearing around Wailing Woods. Many fans are now conceding to the possibility of the trees being destroyed very soon. While the video might raise a few eyebrows, the next image from mgcrevier shows some more potentially devastating effects from the earthquake. While it isn’t yet known if the loss of leaves is a bug, a lot of players have spotted the rise of ash at the location. Whether or not these are indications that the location is to be destroyed remains to be seen. Fortnite Season 8 is set to kick off on February 28.

Is Travis Scott’s skin coming back to Fortnite? Fans call for return with new album – Dexerto
Is Travis Scott’s skin coming back to Fortnite? Fans call for return with new album Epic Games / Cactus JackTravis Scott’s skin has become one of the rarest Fortnite cosmetic items, especially after being withdrawn due to controversy. However, after nearly two years, fans are requesting the skin’s return to the game in anticipation of the upcoming album Utopia. Here’s what we currently know about the return of the cosmetic to Fortnite. The popular Battle Royale game, Fortnite, has made significant strides in the gaming industry by incorporating a wide range of pop culture icons and collaborations. This also includes Travis Scott, a world-famous producer and rapper. The “Astronomical” live event, a concert in-game held by Travis Scott from April 23-25, 2020, was the highlight of their collaboration. During the event, players could also purchase the Travis Scott outfit in the Fortnite Item Shop. But Epic Games chose to vault the skin due to controversies surrounding the musician and a tragic event at one of his concerts. As a result, the skin hasn’t been available in the Fortnite Item Shop since and fans are demanding Travis’s skin to return in light of his new album Utopia. Fortnite players call for Travis Scott skin to return ahead of Utopia release Players have apparently been tweeting about the potential return of the Travis Scott cosmetic set to the Fortnite Item Shop. Despite rumors to the contrary, the skin has not been officially confirmed to return to the game by either party. However, fans are keeping their fingers crossed that it will return before the release of his new album, Utopia. On his official Twitter account, the musician announced the album’s release date which is now July 28, 2023. One such fan who missed out on the skin when it came out initially said, “Let’s go I could finally buy Travis Scott, but I already have Astro Jack”. Another who claims the rumors to be fake replied, “The whole community is overdosing on Travis Scott cope. It’s not coming back”. A third commented, “There’s a lot of things backing up the return on the 28th including this tweet that Tim Sweeney liked about Travis Scott”. To conclude the argument, a fourth tweeted, “Anyone who knows Travis and his Cactus Jack brand knows he likes to keep his stuff exclusive and he only drops things once”. However, Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney posted his views on X regarding Travis Scott’s Fortnite cosmetics when he said, “Travis Scott is welcome in Fortnite. I’m just not in the loop on item shop rotations so I don’t know what’s coming when, or what specific agreements with celebrities and brands affect the timing of those decisions”. Players shouldn’t get their hopes up just yet that his skin will be making a comeback. They should take the rumors with a pinch of salt, and in case it turns out to be true, however, the next major Fortnite update on July 25 could add Travis Scott’s skin game files to the Item Shop.

Is this really how Fortnite’s Season 7 will end? – Dexerto
Is this really how Fortnite’s Season 7 will end? Fortnite’s V7.30 Update went live on Tuesday, January 29 with a host of huge changes, but dataminers are already focused on what’s coming next in the popular battle royale title. Chiller Grenades were introduced to 7.30 update, while a number of popular weapons were placed into the vault – including the fan-favorite Bolt Action Sniper. While cosmetics and upcoming events like the special Super Bowl LTM have already been leaked, it appears that dataminers may have found the final in-game event of Season 7, that will likely usher in major updates to the map at the beginning of Season 7. Epic Games often use huge in-game events to signal the end of one season and the beginning of another, using a meteor strike in Season 4 to destroy Dusty Depot, and the large iceberg that crashed into the island at the beginning of Season 7. Now, it seems like Fortnite’s island will be rocked with earthquakes in the lead up to Season 8, likely destroying a number of popular landmarks as the developers revamp the map for the new season. Some are already predicting that building in the centre of Tilted Towers that has been destroyed on a number of occasions will be the first to go, while others believe that the earthquakes will affect the snow covered south-western corner of the map. LEAKED: Season 8 lead up event will be an earthquake #Fortnite pic.twitter.com/ytHONKrViA — Fortnite News :snowflake:️ (@FNBRHQ) January 29, 2019 Fortnite’s Season 7 is set to end on Thursday, February 28, with Season 8 scheduled to start on the same day, meaning fans still a few weeks to wait before this event kicks off. These last few weeks do give fans an opportunity to work on completing their weekly challenges if they want to get their hands on the Snowfall skin, which has been spotted in leaked loading screens.

Is this the solution to Fortnite’s overpowered Stormwing plane? – Dexerto
Is this the solution to Fortnite’s overpowered Stormwing plane? Fortnite’s X-4 Stormwing has been a hotly debated addition to the game, but one fan may have come up with a solution to the problems plaguing the plane. The X-4 Stormwing is a plane that was added to the game at the beginning of Season 7 back in December, with the vehicle able to carry up to five players, and also has a turret on the front that allows the pilot to rain down bullets on opponents. The plane also features a boost function, that means the Stormwing can be used to crash into enemy-built structures, making it one of the most powerful items in the game. Some players have complained that the Stormwing is much too powerful, and believe it is too difficult to destroy the plane, especially if it’s swooping towards you to destroy your base. However, Reddit user buildsomewalls may have come up with a solution for this issue, by suggesting that Epic Games make the front of the plane where the propellor is attached a critical hit area, giving it the effect of a headshot. This would act as a deterrent to pilots who fly their plane directly at opponents, as they would be revealing the vehicle’s weakest point to their enemies. Epic Games have released several patches for the Stormwing in an attempt to balance, most recently on January 8, when the final V7.10 Content Update saw the damage done to the plane when it collides with structures increased by 50%. While this idea is just created by a fan, it’s possible Epic Games may take and use it, as they have done with skin ideas and other changes in the past.

Is Fortnite controller aim assist stronger on PC than console? – Dexerto
Is Fortnite controller aim assist stronger on PC than console? The upcoming Fortnite Winter Royale will feature separate prize pools for each platform but many players are wondering if aim assist differences create an unfair advantage for controller players on PC. Just when we thought the debate between controllers and mouse and keyboard was settled, new evidence has cropped up that might indicate controller players actually hold an edge in Fortnite when playing on PC. Before we even look at the findings, some players might have already come to this realization after seeing pro UnknownxArmy1x come away with back-to-back FNCS wins by using a controller on PC. His strong play has given rise to a new breed of controller players and has proven you don’t need skill with the mouse and keyboard. https://twitter.com/UnknownxArmy1x/status/1203815630723571713 It’s starting to look like there was a reason for that and it’s that aim assist works differently on PC than it does on console if you’re using a controller. On console, Epic nerfed the “L2” aiming so you won’t be able to snap to targets as you used to and abuse that, but it looks the PC version of the game didn’t get that memo. Read More: Special Fortnite announcement set for The Game Awards 2019 After watching controller players beam others from across the map on PC, some players decided to investigate for themselves how much of a difference there really is. One player’s findings revealed that PC offers a level of aim assist that is not seen on consoles. Of course, just because Reddit user VittorioMasia came up with this evidence doesn’t exactly mean it’s true, but this player certainly isn’t alone in feeling this way. For example, Fortnite pro Bizzle thinks controller players should be kept off PC tournaments. “Get controller players out of PC tournaments SAY I,” he tweeted. Normally, this type of thing wouldn’t be a problem but because the Winter Royale is platform-specific, players on PC are able to bring their controllers to PC to potentially get an unfair advantage. Obviously, this doesn’t mean a controller will outright dominate the competition but they could have a clear advantage. We’ll have to wait and see how the tournament players out before we can figure out if there’s a real problem. If a controller player dominates on PC then we might have an issue. In the meantime, players will have to continue the raging debate of controller vs KB + M.

Is The Wanderer Doctor Doom? Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 theory explained – Dexerto
Is The Wanderer Doctor Doom? Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 theory explained Epic Games / DexertoFortnite players have a theory that The Wanderer’s identity will be revealed as Doctor Doom in the upcoming Chapter 5 Season 4. Robert Downey Jr shocked Marvel fans after the actor revealed he will star as Doctor Doom in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday movie. Ever since Fortnite players have been further speculating about the character’s all but confirmed involvement in the next season. However, they’ve now started to connect the dots with another mysterious character who possesses an unknown identity – The Wanderer. Many believe that The Wanderer could actually be Doctor Doom, but, is there any truth to it? Here’s everything we know. Is The Wanderer Doctor Doom? Fortnite theory explained Despite the highly-anticipated Avengers film scheduled to arrive in 2026, Fortnite’s leaked 2024 Roadmap indicates that Doom will be unleashed onto the island towards mid-August. This would perfectly align with the release date of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4, which is slated to drop on August 16, 2024. As with every new season, Fortnite is expected to feature a live event involving the lore, which for the past few seasons, has been centered around The Wanderer through story quests. The original Fortnite character was first referenced in several questlines during the Myths and Mortals season. After the release of Chapter 5 Season 3, The Wanderer made his debut and has been mysteriously spotted at several POIs and landmarks across the map. Fortnite player PLAYED_YT went one step further and highlighted in a post to the FortniteBR Reddit: “The Wanderer just so happened to show up on the island the same time the Iron Man artifacts showed up.” The ‘Iron Man artifacts’ refer to the Stark Industries Rift Beacons that were added across the Chapter 5 Season 3 map off the back of several mid-season updates. Since you aren’t able to interact with these, they all point in different directions, and there has been no explanation for their appearance. Another player pointed out: “Doom has a white cloak in a few scenarios in the comics, Battleworld, etc,” alluding to the fact that The Wanderer also walks around with a similar white-colored cloak. Others tried to link the locations the NPC has been spawning at, however, that resulted in no relation to Doom. These include Coastal Comms, Estate Station, Placid Pumps, Cliffside Lodge, east of Nitrodrome, and south of the Dam Bridge. Fortnite’s 2024 Roadmap has been proving accurate so far, with all collabs including Billie Eilish, Metallica, Avatar, and Pirates of the Caribbean releasing around the dates stated. With everything considered and The Wanderer’s questline expected to continue in Chapter 5 Season 4, Doctor Doom being revealed as the mysterious figure has proved to be the strongest theory yet. To celebrate the release of another MCU film, Marvel has collaborated with Fortnite once again to release Deadpool & Wolverine skins and cosmetic bundles on July 27.

Fortnite: Another mysterious invisibility bug appearing in Battle Royale – Dexerto
Fortnite: Another mysterious invisibility bug appearing in Battle Royale Some Fortnite fans will remember the terrible invisibility bug which was found when Epic Games added Shadow Stones, and now footage has emerged which suggests there might be another one. The idea of being hidden in plain sight would probably an ideal scenario for Fortnite players, hence the developer trying to build a temporary invisibility item into the game at the beginning of Season 6, but it’s never really worked as Epic had intended. After gamers were experiencing bugs with Shadow Stones, such as unlimited invisibility, they were removed from the game in the v7.00 patch. However, this new bug is a lot more confusing than that. In a post to the FortniteBR subreddit, one Reddit user – FloodsVFX – included a clip where himself and his teammate had been knocked down near Polar Peaks and next to them was also a player knocked from another team. A plane came crashing past, seemingly without a pilot, and a few moments later you can hear the enemy player was suddenly being revived. They sprung back into action and eliminated FloodsVFX with a shotgun. “Wow! They must’ve really increased the range at which you could revive!” the Reddit user posted, yet if you listen carefully to the audio in the clip below, you can hear footsteps across the snow before the player is revived. This suggests that rather than the range of revival being increased, there actually might have been a player there all along that we – or the team for that matter – couldn’t see. There is no way of definitively knowing if the player is under the map, invisible or perhaps even – as Floods suggested – the revive range was increased in this instance, but the game does have a history for this type of bug.

Is the Double Pump meta back in Fortnite Season OG? – Dexerto
Is the Double Pump meta back in Fortnite Season OG? Epic GamesThe Pump Shotgun has been unvaulted in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season OG and plenty of players are wondering if the Double Pump meta is back on the island. If you too are curious about the same, keep reading to find out everything you need to know. The Pump Shotgun is one of the OG weapons in the Fortnite universe and unvaulting it at the launch of Season OG does make a lot of sense. However, there was an infamous strategy back during Chapter 1 which involved the Pump Shotgun, known as the Double Pump meta. The Double Pump meta was a brief period in Fortnite’s history where players would have two Pump Shotguns in their inventory to swap between each other instantly after shooting. This allowed the player to perform two successive shots with the lethal shotgun. With the weapon now being unvaulted, many are wondering if the same meta will make a return to haunt players on the island. Having said that, let’s dive in and check out everything there is to know about the newly unvaulted Pump shotgun and the Double Pump meta in the new season. The Double Pump meta in Fortnite Season OG A lot of players have been curious since the release of Fortnite Season OG about the Double Pump meta. However, it is safe to say that the Double Pump meta is not back in Fortnite Season OG. Epic Games has ensured to patch the Pump Shotgun like all other shotguns in the game with a swap delay. This means that you will still have to wait for a short duration before shooting after you swap your weapons. While this does leave some players in the community disappointed, plenty are relieved to not have to face a second shot from the Pump Shotgun after barely managing to dodge the first one. However, whether Epic will remove the swap delay from the Pump Shotgun at any point during the course of Season OG remains a mystery. After all, with everything that has been confirmed by Epic Games already, bringing the Double Pump meta back for a week just for the sake of nostalgia might not come entirely as a surprise for the community. So, there you have it. That’s all there is to know about the Pump Shotgun and the Double Pump meta in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season OG. Is Tfue cheating in Fortnite? Zayt accuses pros of using macros – Dexerto
Is Tfue cheating in Fortnite? Zayt accuses pros of using macros Twitter: FaZe ClanTurner ‘Tfue’ Tenney is arguably the biggest Fortnite streamer on Twitch, but is he legit? According to Williams ‘Zayt’ Aubin, he’s not, with the NRG pro accusing the former FaZe star of using “macros” to cheat in the battle royale. Tfue is one of Fortnite’s biggest stars, not just in streaming but in esports. He rakes in tens of thousands of viewers daily on Twitch, and has participated in some of the game’s biggest esports events. However, his legitimacy has been called into question by one pro in particular — Zayt. The NRG star has claimed that Tfue is cheating in Fortnite, using macros to gain an advantage over opponents against the FNCS rules. In a now deleted tweet from June 8, Zayt claimed that he was going to “expose all the pros that use double movement macros.” These binds allow keyboard and mouse players to move just like you are on a controller, sprinting in one direction while looking in the other. While this is achievable with remapping your settings to have a secondary movement option for strafing left and right, some players opt to use macros to make it a bit easier. In the pro scene however, this is outright banned, as using macros are against the FNCS rules. Under section 8.2.1 of the Fortnite competitive ruleset, “any form of unfair play is prohibited…including using macro keys or similar methods to automate in-game actions.” Zayt called out six Fortnite pros, and while he eventually turned around and rescinded his accusations against five of them, he laid down the law on Tfue. The NRG player claimed he has proof of Tfue using binds, but is yet to release it publicly. “Tfue is [using binds] and will never get banned because he’s the biggest streamer,” the star reiterated on June 9 on Twitter. This tweet has also been deleted. In a statement to Fortnite Intel, he said that “there’s zero evidence of anyone [cheating] except Tfue currently.” Tfue is yet to respond to these claims made by Zayt, and he should always be presumed innocent until proven otherwise. He has been accused of cheating in the past, but all of these accusations have been shot down. He has also been outspoken about cheaters in the past, condemning players who have teamed up or used other advantages during FNCS events. We will update you with more information as it arises.

Is Tfue joining NRG? Fortnite pros fuel speculation – Dexerto
Is Tfue joining NRG? Fortnite pros fuel speculation YouTube: Tfue/NRGNRG’s band of Fortnite players have sparked speculation that Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney could soon join their ranks, but will the Twitch superstar make the move? Even though he hasn’t dominated the competitive scene as some fans thought he might have, and has pretty much given up on Epic Games’ battle royale, Tfue is still one of the premier names when it comes to Fortnite. The 22-year-old had been locked in a legal battle with FaZe Clan over his contract for over a year, as he has looked to get out of it and move on to something new. On August 26, it was finally ruled that he is a free agent and his contact with the org is done. Even though some players have suggested that he could start his own organization, the stacked NRG Fortnite roster have sparked speculation that Tfue could actually be joining them. Is Tfue joining NRG? The NRG roster, which is made up of top tier players like BenjyFishy, Ronaldo, and Clix has been growing in numbers in recent months. After the FaZe vs Tfue lawsuit settlement, however, they’ve been teasing a major new addition. “NO WAY NRG JUST SIGN HIM TO FORTNITE, Ronaldo tweeted, while Clix added to the speculation by posting “NRG ____?” and leaving four gaps for where a player’s name would be. Some fans have suggested that it could be Tfue, given the hype that the players have attached to the signing, but YouTuber TheFortniteGuy has suggested that Tenney might not be the man they’re teasing. Instead, the YouTuber noted that it could be former Team Liquid member Ryan ‘Chap’ Chaplo given that he has been a free agent since April and his four-letter name would fit with the teasers. “Even at that point, I’m not feeling it,” TheFortniteGuy said on the Chap idea. “I don’t think they would hype him up that much.” Timestamp of 6:30 Of course, given the timing of the NRG tweets and Tfue’s release from FaZe, they could very well just be teasing something but not doing anything. Either way, we’ll just have to wait and see as to what Tfue’s next move is, be it him joining a new org like NRG or deciding to go it alone.

This is how Epic builds up anticipation for any new season, and the teasers they have released thus far have been intriguing. All signs, as of now, point to aliens coming to the Fortnite island, and it seems they are going to be bringing some new weapons for players to use in battle. Read More: All Fortnite Season 7 teasers – However, a new teaser that was posted on June 6 has fans questioning if Epic are trying to alert players of a potential Superman crossover happening within the new season’s battle pass. This is due to the fact that the pair of glasses in the middle of the teaser video looks fairly similar to glasses Clark Kent or Superman wears when he is out in public. Catalog Entry #407-740 When placed onto the face this strange plastic device seemed to make us appear as unrecognizable. More testing required. Full data upload – 6.8.2021 pic.twitter.com/KXGykzgO7S — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) June 6, 2021 As well, the caption of the teaser reads “When placed onto the face this strange plastic device seemed to make us appear as unrecognizable”. This is the effect that Superman’s glasses have on ordinary citizens, as they are not able to see that he is Superman, even though they look identical minus the frames. Read More: Bella Poarch Fortnite emote revealed – Adding Superman to the long-lasting line of characters from other genres into Fortnite would not be too much of a surprise to us. As the entire theme of the new season is aliens, and Superman does come from an extraterrestrial planet, so it makes sense in this regard. However, we will have to wait and see if this speculation pans out to be true when Epic releases Season 7 on June 8, as we never truly know what is up their sleeves.

Is Soulja Boy’s ‘Crank That’ dance really getting added to Fortnite? – Dexerto
Is Soulja Boy’s ‘Crank That’ dance really getting added to Fortnite? Fans of popular rapper Deandre Way, better known by his stage name Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em, may soon be able to perform one of the artist’s signature dances in Fortnite Battle Royale. The rapper gained worldwide fame in back in 2007 when his debut single ‘Crank That’ topped the US Billboard Top 100, and went to number two in the UK Singles charts. The video for the song featured Soulja Boy alongside various other rappers such as Bow Wow and Rich Boy, backup dancers and even children all performing the signature dance which shares the same name as the single that inspired it. While the video was released 11 years ago, it seems like Way’s signature Crank That dance may make an appearance in 2018’s biggest cultural phenomenon, Fortnite Battle Royale. In a tweet posted on Sunday, November 11, Soulja Boy stated that a “little bug” had told him that a ‘Crank That Soulja Boy’ emote would be coming to the popular battle royale title “soon.” A little bug told me that Crank That Soulja Boy emote is coming soon to @FortniteGame :eyes: — Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em (@souljaboy) November 12, 2018 Soulja Boy and Fortnite may seem like an odd mix, but the hip hop artist has been streaming his gameplay on Twitch back in September, and has since amassed over 34,000 followers on the live streaming platform. Recently, Soulja Boy won his first game on stream and the American got extremely hyped up as he hilariously celebrated his Victory Royale. Epic Games haven’t officially announced that the Soulja Boy emote is coming to Fortnite or when players will be able to get their hands on the popular dance. However, with the rapper teasing it’s arrival on Twitter, it’s likely to appear in the in-game shop in the near future.

The highly-anticipated crossover sent shockwaves through the industry as a whole, with a buffed version of the iconic figure making an impact in the hit video game. But is the hype stopping there? Will Peter Griffin be the only Family Guy character in Fortnite? Or could others, like Quagmire, join in too? Here’s what you need to know. Is Quagmire coming to Fortnite? No, Quagmire is not set to join Fortnite. There has been absolutely no news surrounding the possible addition of Quagmire in Epic’s BR. From the looks of things, Peter Griffin was merely a one-off from Family Guy in light of insurmountable hype surrounding his debut over the years. If Quagmire were, in fact, on the way, there’s no doubt we’d start hearing about it well in advance. Be it in-game teasers from devs themselves or countless leaks from dataminers along the way, it likely wouldn’t remain a secret for all too long. So for the time being, with no intel whatsoever on any other Family Guy character joining Fortnite, let alone Quagmire, it’d be wise not to hold your breath. Though with that said, as we’ve learned plenty of times in recent history, nothing is ever truly off the table. Is Fortnite’s Kendrick and Drake Beef Bundle real? Epic Games/DailyLoudAmong all the rumored Fortnite skins, Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s Beef Bundle is going viral online. But is it real? We’ve got the answer. Fortnite fans frequently delight in following the newest trends or popular moments in pop culture or on social media. Players appreciate the game’s efforts to keep things fresh on the cosmetic front, whether it’s viral TikTok dances or moves that can be turned into emotes. However, with the ongoing viral spat between Grammy-winning artists Kendrick Lamar and Drake, social media is ablaze with game concepts putting the two against one another in battlegrounds. Amidst all of this, a Fortnite Item Shop video has gone viral, featuring Drake and Kendrick skins in the game, combined together in a cosmetic group named Beef Bundle. While many people find the video convincing, is it real or simply a concept? We’ve got the answer. Is the Drake and Kendrick Fortnite Beef Bundle a real thing? Sadly, the answer is No. The Beef Bundle depicted in the viral video by X page Daily Loud is simply a concept image that is spreading across social media. Epic Games usually announces a larger collab on social media, whether it’s with a musical artist or a film or TV franchise. The viral video shows merely AI-generated concepts of Drake and Kendrick Lamar if they were Fortnite skins. Hence if you were hoping the video to be real, it’s actually fake and players can only hope to get the two rappers in the game as Fortnite skins. In recent times, musical artists have been added to the game as cosmetic outfits, thanks to Fortnite Festival passes that brought Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, and The Weeknd. Is Fortnite Reload a permanent game mode? – Dexerto
Is Fortnite Reload a permanent game mode? Epic GamesFortnite Reload brings back the OG experience with a twist. But is Reload a permanent game mode or is it just here for a limited-time? Here’s what you should know. Fortnite Reload in Chapter 5, Season 3 added a fresh yet nostalgic experience outside the regular Battle Royale modes. Tilted Towers, Retail Row, and other early POIs finally returned to the game, along with some classic OG weapons. Aside from these additions, the graphics were also tweaked – resembling how the early Fortnite days looked. However, what really sets this mode apart from the Battle Royale during the Fortnite OG season is its reboot mechanics. With a smaller map and faster respawn times, matches tend to be more fast-paced, which feels like a completely different experience than Zero Build and Battle Royale – and players love it. But is the mode going to be permanent? Or is it just another LTM? Is Fortnite Reload permanent? Epic Games has yet to confirm whether or not Reload is a permanent game mode, but seeing the players’ feedback and the fact that this mode managed to surpass others in terms of concurrent players, it’s likely that it’s not going anywhere. Though as always, it’s ideal not to keep your hopes up until there’s official news. That said, looking back at how this mode is treated, there’s always a chance it’s going to be permanent. When Fortnite Reload was first released, the mode was only limited to Squads, leaving some players frustrated as they didn’t have enough friends to play with. After all, nothing beats playing with friends and coordinating how to snatch the Fortnite Reload rewards together. To ensure no one was left out, Epic Games listened to feedback and recently added Duos and Trios to the mode. Aside from that, well-known leaker iFireMonkey has also revealed in an X post that Junk Rifts and the B.R.U.T.E. (Mech) are “in the files for Fortnite Reload.” This makes it even more likely that the mode will stay, as Epic seems to have plans to support and update Reload with more additions. Overall, while it’s still speculation, it’s safe to assume Fortnite Reload will likely be permanent. After all, unlike Fortnite OG – which is tied to a whole mini-season – Reload is a separate game mode, like LEGO Fortnite and Festival, that doesn’t affect the main Battle Royale modes.

Is Fortnite’s Ice King going to die this season? Here’s why it might happen – Dexerto
Is Fortnite’s Ice King going to die this season? Here’s why it might happen Epic GamesFortnite has changed a lot already in Season 7, but the latest arrival of a huge ice ball dangling over the map has led some fans to believe that things are falling into place for one character’s impending death. The latest season has brought so many different features to the game, with the controversial Infinity Blade and the X-4 Stormwing planes coming in at the beginning and the latest addition of an ice ball hovering over the map for all to see. Fortnite has built a reputation of being incredibly unpredictable of late, but one fan believes that the developer is working towards the climax of a rather epic storyline. If this theory is correct, things could be about to heat up. A recent post to the FortniteBR subreddit from ANattyLight seems to have garnered strong interest from the game’s online community, as their take on the current situation on Fortnite draws interesting comparisons between the arrival of an ice ball in the sky and an old Arthurian tale. The Reddit user has suggested that the current story being developed by Epic Games is in fact following the tale of Mordred, and they believe that it will end with the upcoming death of the Ice King. “There are five chairs at the round table. Ice Queen, King, Knight, Ranger, Raven. The Ice King’s son, Malcore, betrayed him and his seat was taken away – hence the absence of chair. This follows the story of Mordred and looks nearly identical to him. The Ice King will die this season” the user explained. ‘Malcore’ was one of eight Fortnite skins which were leaked on January 16 and this fan seems to think that it will prove to be a prominent figure moving forward, by killing the Ice King. The Ice King was first introduced to Fortnite players at the very beginning of Season 7, on December 6, and was the centrepiece of the game’s advertising at that stage. The buzz around the character, though, had seemingly started to quell, until the arrival of a brand new set of Ice Storm challenges and a whole bunch of new characters were leaked. Will the character be killed? We’ll have to wait and see.

Is Fortnite really dead? #RipFortnite trends on Twitter as fans slam Epic – Dexerto
Is Fortnite really dead? #RipFortnite trends on Twitter as fans slam Epic Epic GamesEpic Games’ Fortnite is rapidly approaching three years old but is it really struggling to stay afloat in the saturated battle royale market? With #RIPFortnite trending on Twitter, we take a look at viewership, prominent player opinions and its biggest rivals. Fortnite vs Apex Legends vs Warzone vs Valorant The last few years have seen a swell in the number of battle royale games available to players. While Fortnite revolutionized the market, it followed popular games like PUBG and H1Z1. These games have since fallen by the wayside, making way for Apex Legends and Warzone. However, what do viewership figures indicate? We know that both Warzone and Apex Legends have surpassed 50 million unique players, but Epic have been slightly more tight-lipped about their numbers of late. The last real update we got was in March 2019, when Epic confirmed that 250 million unique users had played Fortnite. According to TwitchMetrics, Fortnite’s average viewership over the last month – from mid-March to mid-April – was just over 91,000. This puts it as the sixth most popular category on Twitch. It also puts it considerably ahead of Apex Legends, which came in 17th for the same time period. However, it lost out to CS:GO, League of Legends, Valorant and, perhaps most importantly, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This is arguably the biggest takeaway, given that Warzone (part of Modern Warfare) is a battle royale and so represents the most significant competitor to Fortnite. When we compare the statistics for Fortnite to Warzone or Valorant, it does indeed fall significantly behind. Modern Warfare’s average viewership on the platform over the same time period is just shy of 140,000, putting it nearly 50,000 ahead of Fortnite. Similarly, Valorant’s average viewership is nearly 250,000. This puts it nearly 160,000 average viewers ahead of Fortnite at any given point. While these stats make for pretty grim reading for Fortnite fans, it’s important to remember a few caveats. Firstly, one of Fortnite’s biggest streamers is Ninja and, while he has had some negative feedback for Epic of late, he will be racking up considerable viewership over on Mixer. Secondly, players are granted access to Valorant’s beta by watching Twitch streams. Hence, while the game’s beta is running, players are uniquely incentivized to watch Riot’s new FPS. It’s also key to remember that Valorant and Warzone are far newer than Fortnite, meaning that player interest may fall away soon. This is something Fortnite has overcome previously, with battle royales like Black Ops 4’s Blackout. Are pro players and content creators ditching Fortnite? In short, some are, some aren’t. We still see streamers like Ninja and Tfue pulling in vast audiences for Fortnite. However, both garner significant viewership whatever title they play. On the other hand, we have seen many creators and pros move away from Epic Games’ title. Recently, Fortnite World Cup runner-up Psalm announced he would be moving to Valorant. Similarly, CouRageJD and DrLupo, two of Fortnite’s biggest content creators, recently revealed their reasons for moving away from Fortnite. The two have worked closely with Epic in the past, casting some of the game’s biggest tournaments, so their reluctance to play it certainly speaks volumes. Why are people angry at Epic Games? When looking at why players are frustrated with Epic, it’s important to remember that there are still huge numbers of Fortnite players who are happy with the game and the direction it’s taken. See explanations on ‘silent majority’. However, it’s undeniable that a lot of players are also frustrated with Epic. Among other reasons, the inclusion of skill-based matchmaking in public matches has been controversial. Fans argue that it punishes high-skilled players, and that a game with dedicated ‘ranked’ modes – like Fortnite’s Arena – should not have it in public games. Furthermore, Epic’s decision to cease publishing patch notes remains very unpopular. While originally done to minimize the impact their decisions had on players, it seems many have merely become annoyed at the lack of clarity over changes the game has made. Finally, Fortnite grew to be known for its regular content drops and patches to keep the game fresh. Many feel this has dried up of late. Chapter 2’s first season ran for roughly five months. Given that the game’s most significant changes occur when new seasons drop, the lengthy opening to Chapter 2 left many bored and tired of a stagnating game.

Is it now time for the unique Attack on Titan universe to arrive? Contents Is Fortnite getting an Attack on Titan crossover? Everything we know The official answer, for the time being, has to be no. There’s been nothing solid from Epic Games concerning Attack on Titan appearing in the popular battle royale. So where has the rumor come from? After the debut of Naruto in Fortnite, it got people wondering if Epic were going to stop there in terms of anime. If Naruto, why not any other leading franchises? Call of Duty even managed to feature an AOT crossover after all. Read More: Did Fortnite remove Party Royale? – Respected and accurate Fortnite leaker Shiina stirred the pot with a tweet on April 19, 2022, that said: “New shop background for encrypted skins with the codename “Rumble”. It also came with an interesting image attached to it. New shop background for encrypted skins with the codename “”Rumble”” pic.twitter.com/2I4j0RB62c — Shiina (@ShiinaBR) April 19, 2022 The replies to the Tweet featured a variety of theories with many of them pointing to the incoming arrival of an Attack on Titan crossover. One person said: “The only reason I’m expecting AOT is because of the clear cel-shaded style with the same color as the AOT logo,” whereas another said: “RUMBLING, RUMBLING IT’S COMING.” For those unaware, the Rumbling pertains to an event in Attack on Titan and was also the name of one of the show’s themes. The relevancy is the codename “rumble” attached to Shiina’s screenshot. What is Attack on Titan? Attack on Titan is a Japanese anime that centers around a world in which towering titans try to kill and consume humans. To defend what’s left of themselves, the humans entrench themselves in secure towns and cities protected by walls several hundred feet in height. How to check Fortnite Server Status To check server status, you can head over to Epic Games’ official site. At the time of writing, servers are running and operational. The servers were previously down to prepare for the release of Chapter 5 Season 4’s 31.20 patch update. If the service is labeled as ‘Under Maintenance’ in blue text, it should mean that there are some issues that can be affecting your experience in-game. If the text ‘Operational’ is displayed in green, it means the service is operating normally. When an issue is flagged, or downtime begins, it will be noted and highlighted. You can click on the plus symbol next to ‘Fortnite’ if you want more information about any specific service like parties, voice chat, stats, and more. When will Fortnite servers be back up today? The Fortnite servers are back up and live for players to play on. Epic Games stated that the downtime for the 31.20 update began at 4 AM ET with matchmaking ending shortly beforehand. Despite this update being a major patch filled with various content for both the main Battle Royale modes and LEGO Fortnite, it ended at 5:30 AM ET. This was much faster than previous content additions this season, in which some encountered delays and lasted far longer. It is worth noting that while the downtime is being carried out for any Fortnite update, you can download and install the update beforehand to avoid any further delays when the servers go live again.

Is Darth Vader finally coming to Fortnite? Leaks point to Star Wars skin – Dexerto
Is Darth Vader finally coming to Fortnite? Leaks point to Star Wars skin Epic Games/LucasFilmCould another Star Wars-themed character make its way into Fortnite Season 3? A leak suggests that Luke Skywalker’s father may be boarding the battle bus. Star Wars has become one of the most iconic franchises in the world. Since making its cinematic debut on May 25, 1977, the galaxy far, far away has given us pop culture icons in Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia. The number of characters is endless as LucasFilm has continued to churn out stories that continue the galactic lore of the Jedi. With success spanning 50 years, these characters have stood the test of time as their relevance has only grown as time trudged on. Portrayed by the late David Prowse in physicality and by James Earl Jones vocally, Darth Vader has become bigger than the franchise he represents. And that icon could be finding himself in another galaxy further away. Darth Vader skin coming to Fortnite? During the State of Unreal showcase on April 5, 2022, a moment showcased Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3’s cinematic intro. There was a display of two monitors; one monitor showed the behind-the-scenes of the upcoming chapter expansion, while the second monitor showed a series of files. Captured by reliable leaker iFireMonkey and first spotted by 3D screenshot artist polaqwym, in a tweet documenting the potential leak, he zooms into the files to reveal that the Star Wars original big bad could potentially make his way onto the battle bus. The folder named “C3S3_Vader” is shown together with various other potential eye-boggling references. Star Wars made its Fortnite debut back in December 2019, so the franchise is no stranger to the build-based battle royale. During the State of Unreal showcase there was a segment showing the Intro Cinematic for Ch3 – S1. On the second monitor you can see some folders such as: – Family Guy – Chapter 3 – Season 3 Jones – Chapter 3 – Season 3 – Vader – Doom and some other filesSpotted by @polaqwym pic.twitter.com/CmfQ2lUxs0 — iFireMonkey (@iFireMonkey) April 5, 2022 But, with the inclusion of Rey and Finn into the fray, players were curious if they would ever see some of the classic characters get their chance in the sun. If the leaks are accurate, Darth Vader may be coming to Fortnite Chapter 3. Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 begins June 4, 2022, so we have a couple of months before the official release of Fortnite’s next huge update. With a world as expansive as the one Epic Games has created, it’s safe to say anything can happen between now and then.

Is a snowy map coming to Fortnite for the winter season? Several hints seem to suggest so – Dexerto
Is a snowy map coming to Fortnite for the winter season? Several hints seem to suggest so With the winter season rapidly approaching, the Fortnite Battle Royale player-base waits in anticipation for what Epic Games may have in store for the holidays. Since the release of Fortnite, Epic have made it a custom to alter in-game items and locations on the map to reflect the current time of year in the real world. While Epic are likely to put in the Christmas trees and Snowball Launchers again this year, many are predicting them to go beyond that and introduce snowy terrain to the map. This prediction may indeed some become reality, as recent signs within the game suggest that a snowy map, or area of the map, may be in the works for December. This speculation began when the new A.I.M. Hunting Party Skin was officially made available in Fortnite. Many noticed the characters hands and feet are frozen and took it as a major hint. Some of the more creative players have begun making concepts for what winter would look like in-game, and if these are any indication of what’s to come, then it’s certainly going to be a jolly upcoming few months in Fortnite.

Is a Fortnite x Overwatch 2 crossover happening? New spray sparks speculation – Dexerto
Is a Fortnite x Overwatch 2 crossover happening? New spray sparks speculation Epic Games/Blizzard EntertainmentOverwatch 2 and Fortnite fans are on alert after a new spray added to the battle royale seems to be heavily inspired by an existing OW spray. Fortnite is the reigning king of crossovers with content from just about every property you can think of being included in the game as some point. From Batman to Star Wars – Fortnite has seemingly done it all. With Overwatch 2, Blizzard is trying to get on that train as seen from the recent One Punch Man collaboration featuring skins and other cosmetics from the popular anime. Now, fans are speculating that the worlds of Overwatch and Fortnite could collide thanks to a new ‘Hamster Cabbie’ spray that some players think is greatly inspired by the OW2 tank hero Hammond and his ‘Pilot’ spray. Fans speculate an Overwatch Fortnite crossover is coming As originally spotted by Overwatch 2 Twitter page Cavalry, the new Fortnite spray is very similar to Wrecking Ball’s Pilot spray with both hamsters having their arms folded and looking menacing. The discussion soon spread to the Fortnite community with HYPEX commenting, “Either Fortnite got a bit too inspired from Overwatch in the new spray, or maybe there’s an upcoming collab with them.” In the comments, users began remarking about a potential crossover in the works with some even saying that the collab “needs to happen.” “That can’t be a coincidence,” another chimed in. However, not everyone is on board. Some players think that this was just a lazy copy and not a sign that the two games have something bigger planned in the future. Regardless, with Overwatch embracing crossovers for the first time and Fortnite paving the way, it’s always possible that something could be in the works at some point, but until then, it’s important to remember that nothing is confirmed yet. Until then, be sure to keep it locked to Dexerto for all the latest OW2 and Fortnite news.

Is 14 Days of Fortnite coming back in Chapter 2? – Dexerto
Is 14 Days of Fortnite coming back in Chapter 2? Epic Games have given Fortnite Battle Royale fans periods of non-stop challenges and rewards in the past, so will 14 Days of Fortnite be making a return in Chapter 2? The developers of the free-to-play title have added a number of new weekly tasks to the game since its last major update on October 15, which saw the introduction of a new map and, of course, a whole host of fresh locations. With the snow not as prevalent on the current island and the likes of Polar Peak, Frosty Flights, and Happy Hamlet no longer in the picture, many players will be wondering if the map will be turning into a winter wonderland with the beginning of Season 2. Those who regularly jump from the Battle Bus will remember that not too long ago the game’s development team was given a summer break, sparking the 14 days of Summer event in June. During this time, weekly updates to the battle royale froze and players were given the chance to grind through a number of different missions. With that event in mind and the likelihood of yet another Christmas break being handed to Epic Games’ employees this year, we’re likely to see another set of 14 Days of Fortnite challenges announced in the near future. Or, at least, something very similar. Leaker Lucas7yoshi has also predicted a winter Fortnite theme could be on the cards, after discovering the start date of Season 2 in the game’s files. I have high hopes for Chapter 2 Season 2 API currently says this season ends on December the 12th/13th so it’ll be christmas/winter themed. Hopefully we get communication unvaulted. pic.twitter.com/HYMxkOoYii — Lucas7yoshi – FESTIVAL ARC??? (@Lucas7yoshi) November 18, 2019 Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2 is expected to come to a close on December 12, according to its developer’s website, meaning that their official timeline lines up perfectly for a new season to feature a fresh winter theme. Last year’s event started on December 19. Epic Games have kept their cards very close to their chest during the course of the first season of the new game, not releasing patch notes when changes are made – preventing players from being able to keep up to date with new content. However, that hasn’t stopped them from shuffling the pack more than once already. With so much water having been added to the map, as well as other features involving interaction with rivers, it remains uncertain about what will happen should the snow and ice reappear. We could see fishing temporarily disabled, the motorboats wouldn’t be able to run anymore, and the dreaded slippery ice that was introduced back in Season 7 could return. Whether or not any of that comes to fruition remains to be seen, but fans will certainly be expecting holiday-themed challenges as we approach the game’s next major update. With Season 2 expected in mid-December, the 14 Days of Fortnite challenges could kick off soon after, running right through to the New Year. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Iron Man in Fortnite? Epic Games Director teases Avengers: Endgame crossover – Dexerto
Iron Man in Fortnite? Epic Games Director teases Avengers: Endgame crossover Marvel/Epic GamesFortnite Creative Director Donald Mustard has seemingly dropped a hint about another crossover between the popular Battle Royale title and Marvel’s wildly successful Avengers movie franchise. As the Creative Director behind Fortnite at Epic Games, Mustard has been known to use his Twitter profile – be it through direct tweets, his personal location, or bio – to tease fans about upcoming additions and changes to the game. In the past, Mustard has teased changes about the Iceberg that hit the battle royale island in Season 7, the changes to Wailing Woods prior to the start of Season 8, and the on-going conspiracies around the Dragon Eggs. Mustard uses Iron Man to tease crossover However, it doesn’t seem like he’ll be getting out of the teaser game any time soon. Teasing fans again, on April 13, Mustard tweeted at Robert Downey Jr. with: “Looking good, @RobertDowneyJr. See you soon! #teamdowney.” Eagle-eyed fans would have noticed that the accompanying image of the Iron Man actor showed him wearing a t-shirt that had Fortnite emblazoned across, as well as a necklace of his iconic character. What it all means is up for interpretation, but considering Mustard’s track record for teasing content before it’s release, it’s easy to assume that a Fortnite and Marvel crossover is just around the corner. Looking good, @RobertDowneyJr. See you soon! #teamdowney pic.twitter.com/tFmc8pDwZ0 — Donald Mustard (@DonaldMustard) April 13, 2019 Will Fortnite get an Avengers: Endgame theme? Of course, it wouldn’t be the first time that the iconic two pop culture brands have crossed over and collaborated. Following the hugely successful release of Avengers: Infinity War, the Thanos Infinity Gauntlet LTM made its way into Fortnite. That limited time mode has been rumored to make a return sometime soon – which would make a whole lot of sense considering that Avengers: Endgame is set for release on April 26 – with pre-sale tickets selling out instantly. It would be interesting to see what plans Epic have in store for a second collaboration with Marvel, especially considering that Mustard’s tweet focused on Robert Downey Jr. Could we see an Iron Man-based LTM or possibly even a line of skins in-game in the near future? It remains to be seen.

Iron Man revealed in latest Fortnite Avengers: Endgame teaser – Dexerto
Iron Man revealed in latest Fortnite Avengers: Endgame teaser Epic Games / MarvelThe April 24 teaser for the upcoming Avengers crossover in Fortnite Battle Royale has all but confirmed that Iron Man will be making an appearance in the game, following hints from Epic Games. Epic’s creative director Donald Mustard, who is the driving force between Fortnite’s collaboration with Marvel and the Avengers, tweeted out an image of Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. earlier in April, sparking speculation. In the image, Downey Jr. was even wearing a Fortnite T-Shirt, further hinting at a big crossover event. Iron Man in Fortnite Battle Royale? Avengers: Endgame releases on April 26, and just like with 2018’s Infinity War, Fortnite is teaming up with the Russo brothers for an in-game event unlike any other. In 2018, only Thanos and his Infinity Gauntlet was added, in its own limited time mode. This time around though, it looks like more characters from the Marvel Universe will be on their way to the battle royale island. Initial teasers hinted at Captain America and Thor, but the third has excited fans more than ever, by showing off Iron Man’s suit. Whatever it takes. 4.25.19.#FortniteXAvengers pic.twitter.com/beyFW3Kkvi— Fortnite (@FortniteGame) April 24, 2019 What is the Fortnite X Avengers: Endgame crossover? The crossover event begins on April 25, just in time for Endgame’s release, and other than these teasers, players still have no idea what to expect. Presumably, it will be another limited-time mode of some kind, but Epic Games have also shown willingness to make major gameplay changes to the standard modes too – although not always to the liking of the player base. There will possibly be one further teaser/reveal on April 25, before the event goes live.

Where to find IO Guards in Fortnite: spawn location guide – Dexerto
Where to find IO Guards in Fortnite: spawn location guide Epic GamesOne of the biggest requirements for Fortnite’s Week 5 challenges is to eliminate 50 IO Guards, but we’ve got a map that makes things so much easier. Fortnite’s Season 5 update brought with it plenty of well-received additions including a map overhaul, a string of new exotic weapons, and skins based on iconic characters from God of War, Halo and The Walking Dead. One new feature that hasn’t gone down so well, though, is the arrival of IO Guards on the map. The frustrating NPC enemies will relentlessly hunt down the player if spotted – and they always seem to appear at the worst possible time. The main reward for taking the high-powered enemies down is a Tactical Assault Rifle, meaning it’s not usually worth the ammo, time, and healing items you’ll need to burn through to defeat them all. While players usually do their best to avoid IO Guards where possible, they’ll have to actively hunt them down if they want to complete Season 5’s Week 5 challenges. Yes, it’s going to be a tough one. Where to find IO Guards in Fortnite Season 5 This week’s Legendary quest requires you to take down the powerful IO Guards, with a grand total of 50 to eliminate if you want to finish it completely. The reward for doing so is a big one: 55,000 XP. Fortunately, the IO Guards rise up out of the ground from their terminals in set locations, meaning you can find them – or avoid them – quite easily, as long as you know where they spawn each match. You can see all 20 locations where IO Guards appear on the map below: IO Guards can be very difficult to take down, and there’ll be a few of them in each terminal, so you’ll want to make sure you come prepared with decent weapons and some Shield Potions or Medkits. A good tactic is to take them down from as far away as you can, as their aim isn’t always the best at a distance. For this, you’ll want a long-range weapon like an Assault Rifle or Sniper Rifle. It’s also worth pointing out that the terminals don’t always deliver IO Guards – sometimes, they feature loot instead. While this would normally be a blessing, it can be frustrating when you’re actually hoping for enemies to appear. If you’re looking to complete the rest of the week’s quests, make sure you check out our Fortnite Season 5 Week 5 Challenges hub.

Intriguing Fortnite glitch could be hinting at upcoming map changes – Dexerto
Intriguing Fortnite glitch could be hinting at upcoming map changes Epic GamesA fascinating glitch accidentally discovered in Fortnite could be indicating how the battle royale map will change in a future Season 2 update. While recent leaks may have let slip the existence of helicopters in Fortnite’s game files, as well as their devastating damage output, a newfound glitch could be teasing a future map update to accommodate the aerial vehicles. With helicopters soon to be appearing all over the map, certain changes could be on the way and this visual glitch might have provided a first look. Venturing through Pleasant Park late into a game on March 4, Reddit user ‘Par4d0x9’ was taken aback by a mesmerizing glitch in the distance. Instead of a building simply disappearing or looking slightly wonky, the visual bug seemed to reveal a completely altered version of the terrain. Stopping in their tracks, the player zoomed in and out in rapid succession to show the bug on repeat as the buildings swapped back and forth. One building is positioned more to the Southside of the map while the other jumps to the North, seemingly on opposite sides of a street. Both are relatively similar in terms of height and overall scale, however, the two are distinct in terms of accessibility and overall window count. With helicopters potentially arriving in Fortnite’s next update, according to recent leaks, many in the Fortnite community are of the mindset that this visual glitch is a peek into the future as buildings are relocated to make room for helicopters. The upcoming vehicle will be placed around the map, meaning that helipads will be a necessary addition. “I think it’s because there is a base below the soccer field with a helipad,” Reddit user ‘SadlyMyNameIsStolen’ expressed, outlining other sections on the map that might also be changed. “The field will open up later on during the season and these houses are right next to it, so they will be affected.” There’s no telling exactly when the new vehicle will make its mark on Epic’s popular battle royale title, but with more leaks slipping through the cracks and glitches appearing across the map, there’s a good chance their arrival is imminent. To get ahead of the competition, here’s everything you need to know about just how powerful helicopters will be in Fortnite.

Insane Number of Viewers Tuned in for TSM Myth’s 1v1 Against FaZe Tfue in Fortnite’s Playground LTM – Dexerto
Insane Number of Viewers Tuned in for TSM Myth’s 1v1 Against FaZe Tfue in Fortnite’s Playground LTM Despite there still not being a formal esports scene in Fortnite, the intensity of competitive action still attracts the largest audiences. Even the most casual players tune in to watch their favorite pro players compete against each other, whether it’s in the weekly Friday Fortnite tournament or 1v1’s in the Playground LTM. An example of this was seen when Team SoloMid’s Fortnite team captain ‘Myth’ faced off against FaZe Clan pro ‘Tfue’ in a battle between two of the best players in the world. Their match was played in the Playground mode and live-stream on Myth’s Twitch channel, and the number of people that watched was incredible. Read More: FaZe Clan’s Tfue and Cloak Win NerdOut’s $20K Anything Goes Fortnite Tournament – Recap and Final Placements – According to The Esports Observer, which releases Twitch viewership statistics every week, an astounding 471.4K total hours were watched during that single broadcast which featured the two players in a pro 1v1 contest. With Myth’s channel having a total of 2.1 million hours watched between July 2-8, that single broadcast made up just short of 25% of that week’s total hours. Myth rose up from 9th place last week, with the majority of his total hours watched (471.4K, gathered in a single broadcast) brought about during a pro 1v1 contest against FaZe Clan’s Turner “Tfue” Tenney. This was made possible thanks to the delayed but finally delivered “Playground Limited Mode” (LTM), a new new addition to Fortnite that allows pro players to skirmish against one another in a private lobby without the usual disturbances of a packed battle royale map. Should developer Epic Games introduce a permanent version of the mode, it will put them massively ahead on esports infrastructure, while offering the potential of weekly highlights for streaming audiences. As one would expect, Myth and Tfue’s build-fights were nothing short of spectacular; the two went back and forth with each doing his best to outdo the other. Insane Fortnite trickshot has this streamer doing literal backflips – Dexerto
Insane Fortnite trickshot has this streamer doing literal backflips Epic GamesBlending real-world style with extraordinary in-game accuracy, this Twitch streamer took Fortnite trickshotting and added even more difficulty to the mix in order to pull off one of the most insane shots in all of Chapter 2. When you’re truly feeling on another level and tired of hitting ordinary shots with ease, trick-shotting is a way to style on the competition and assert your dominance. From the early days of the Call of Duty scene to Fortnite in 2020, stylish sniping is just as impressive as ever. Ramping things up a notch however and incorporating some real-world style into a recent highlight, Twitch streamer ‘Jkeo15’ stepped away from his keyboard before hitting an absurd sky-high shot in-game. Partway through a January 22 match, the Fortnite streamer got his teammates to maneuver a motorboat through Steamy Stacks. The goal was to fly the vehicle through the skies and land a ridiculous sniper shot while rotating uncontrollably. Adding even more spice to the challenge though, he quickly stepped away from his setup as soon as the boat was off the ground. Moving towards a green screen that he had set up ahead of time, he pulled off some aerial stunts of his own, backflipping in the real-world just moments after his character did so in-game. Regaining control of his crosshair once he sat down again, the motorboat had already completed a full rotation as the streamer was lining up his shot. Aiming at an enemy close to a Reboot Van, he quickly aimed down below and pulled off the perfect 100 damage snipe to knock them down. “Yes. Let’s go!” he yelled as the squad celebrated the ridiculous trickshot. Funnily enough, the streamer actually managed to pull off the extraordinary backflipping shot a second time. While the flips were perfect both in-game and in the real world, and the shot was even more impressive than the first, he was only able to connect with a non-lethal hit-marker the second time around. Not the only remarkable trickshot to come from the world of Fortnite of late, players have been one-upping each other with absurd highlights. One particularly daring member of the community recently used a Mythic Goldfish to absolutely embarrass their opponent.

Insane god mode exploit with Fortnite BRUTE mech makes you invincible – Dexerto
Insane god mode exploit with Fortnite BRUTE mech makes you invincible Epic GamesFortnite Battle Royale‘s Season X addition of the BRUTE Mech suit is causing more frustration for players after a new glitch was found making players invincible. The release of the BRUTE has been met with massive backlash from popular streamers and members from the Fortnite community with many, such as FaZe EwOk, calling for the feature to be vaulted from the game. A new glitch which included the controversial mech was recently discovered, which allows players to become invincible by using the armored suit, adding even more pressure on Epic Games to address fans’ concerns. The god mode glitch was shared by Fortnite YouTuber, OrangeGuy, who displayed how the glitch was done and just how powerful it could be in-game. His video demonstrated that simply using two Junk Rifts on the mech before jumping in and stomping with it was all it took to give him this “God Mode”, before displaying just how much damage his character could take once he had completed the glitch. Although the bugged character could not use any weapons, he was completely immune to taking any damage from players and the storm, meaning that players could easily guarantee themselves a victory royale without needing to do anything more. The bug was found only a short time after major nerfs had been made to the BRUTE mech in Fortnite such as decreasing the robot’s fire rate, mobility and much more in an attempt to make it fairer to those tasked with facing them in-game. Epic Games had previously announced that the BRUTE, alongside many of their upcoming changes, would be here to stay, as part of the strategy to encourage new players into the game, despite some criticism from their players wanting for the complete removal of the mechs. This insane glitch has not yet been patched by Epic Games but it is unlikely that it will be left in the game for much longer with the focus they have shown on making the Mech more viable for players with their recent updates.

Insane Fortnite exploit shows just how powerful controller aim assist can be – Dexerto
Insane Fortnite exploit shows just how powerful controller aim assist can be One of the oldest debates in the Fortnite Battle Royale community is about aim assist and whether it offers too much of an advantage to those playing with a controller. Many who predominantly play on mouse and keyboard can be found complaining about the “overpowered” nature of aim assist and how it can make controller players’ gameplay much easier. One of the exploits that these players often cite is “ADS spamming,” which involves the continuous pressing and depressing of the button on a controller responsible for getting the player to aim down the sights of a weapon. Since aim assist is activated every time a player ADS, the constant spamming of the button allows for the aim assist to refocus every time, making it a lot easier to hit moving targets. Read More: Every rare Fortnite cosmetic item that hasn’t appeared in the Item Shop for over 100 days [UPDATED] – This exploit can be seen in action in the clip below, which shows truly how powerful its effects can be when the technique is executed perfectly. Here’s a clear example of why ADS Spamming should be looked into/removed. Again, I have no issue with Aim Assist, at all. In the video provided you can see ADS Spamming hitting numerous shots on someone who can’t be seen in a Stink Bomb RT/Tag @erwil9:pray::skin-tone-3: — Fortnite: Battle Royale Leaks (@FNBRLeaks) January 29, 2019 The clip, which comes courtesy of prominent Fortnite news outlet @FNBRLeaks, demonstrates that the ADS spam exploit can be used to shoot at and hit enemy players who may be not even be visible on the screen. It also shows how it can be used to hit a player that’s moving at a rapid pace, since the spamming of the button keeps refocusing the aim assist onto the opponent’s body. Furthermore, they claim that shooting at enemies that may not be visible due to a Stink Bomb or Smoke is not a legitimate example to bring up since it’ll never really make a difference in actual matches. While that may be true in most cases, it was not true during the recent Ice Storm event that covered the entire map with snow and fog, as many controller players were joyfully able to shoot at enemies that they could not see through the haze. When you can’t see but your aim assist can :see_no_evil::raised_hands: pic.twitter.com/VaKwwp9f9w — SMOON (@bc_smoon) January 27, 2019 can’t see through the fog but aim assist can pic.twitter.com/sHzNFVPBIB — code: gronky12 (@GronKy_) January 21, 2019 Just to be clear, no one is really asking for aim assist to be disabled. Almost everyone accepts the fact that aim assist is absolutely necessary to keep playing with a controller a viable option. What many players are asking is for exploits, such as the ADS spam shown above, to be either patched or nerfed so that aim assist will operate at the levels it was intended to. Whether or not their voices will be heard, only time will tell, but until then, the age-old debate about aim assist will continue to roll on.

Insane Fortnite glitch wrongly gives squad new world record in eliminations – Dexerto
Insane Fortnite glitch wrongly gives squad new world record in eliminations A group of Fortnite Battle Royale controller players had seemingly broken the world record for eliminations in a Squads match, but it all turned out to be the result of an insane glitch in the game. Prominent controller players Assault, Innocents, Destroy, and Bini posted on social media that they had managed to accumulate a whopping 63 eliminations in a Squads match. This total would have been enough to eclipse the world records for both PC and console platforms, except it turned out to be a joke and they had not gotten 63 kills. The reason the in-game scoreboard showed them to have that many eliminations was the result of a glitch that gave one of the players an extra 18 eliminations. The most shocking thing about this was the fact that player who supposedly got 18 eliminations, Bini, wasn’t even in the match with the rest of the group. SQUAD WORLD RECORD w/@innocents__ @Destroy_215 @BiniSZN pic.twitter.com/4FSuSl6pr7 — Assault (@AssaultSZN) January 11, 2019 We reached out to Destroy about this and he broke down what exactly took place that led them to end up with an apparent world record. “We didn’t really break it, it was a glitch that showed he had kills when he didnt,” he explained. “So basically we joined into a Squad with just me, Innocents, and Assault, and while we were mid-game, Bini joined and tt somehow kept adding kills to his name as we were getting kills.” So it was the action of Bini joining the lobby while the rest were already in a match that glitch the game coding to show him not only in the game with them, but with 18 extra eliminations. Having streamed the entire thing, Destroy’s Twitch channel contains a rebroadcast that shows all of this taking place, and the clip above is of the hilarious moment when the players realized they had been handed a free world record. You can watch Destroy’s YouTube video of the gameplay that led up to the glitched record, which was impressive in its own rite considering the trio got 43 eliminations.

Insane Fortnite exploit lets you float forever using the storm – Dexerto
Insane Fortnite exploit lets you float forever using the storm Epic GamesEpic Games have mixed things up with the Device event in Fortnite Battle Royale, and the new storm system appears to have opened up a unique opportunity for players to do something they never could before. The battle royale game’s new season kicks off on June 17 after months of waiting. Chapter 2’s Season 2 has been the second longest in history, leaving members of the community wondering about what changes developers have in store for them when the next patch rolls out.[jwplayer BbiWbi4j] Well, no matter what’s coming soon, the new storm definitely doesn’t look quite right. In fact, players have found a way to dive into it in a way that allows them to float around in the air forever. That said, it doesn’t look like the easiest thing in the world to do. As seen in the clip below, from 1zPhoenix, you can do this by using a helicopter. The video shows three players on board, and the pilot steers the chopper right in the line of the storm as it closes. Once it’s finished coming in and stops, the players on the sides dive off and are able to flail around in the sky for the rest of the time. Those commenting in the replies to the post on Reddit appear to have found another way to do this exploit as well, using a boat. That means that those playing in competitive Fortnite playlists may be able to pull it off as well. Some players have been on the receiving end, and didn’t seem best pleased by their encounter. One said: “Some a**hole did this to me in arena with a boat. They literally got a free second place. My trio won because they were trash but this is unfair. They got 1050 Meters up then fell to their death by the final zone. Not fair.” Whether or not Epic Games will move to fix this storm glitch in the future remains to be seen, although it’s not currently listed on their official Community Issues Trello board (at the time of writing).

Insane Fortnite bug is randomly shooting players deep into the storm – Dexerto
Insane Fortnite bug is randomly shooting players deep into the storm Epic GamesA new Fortnite bug in Season 4 is randomly shooting players deep into the storm, leaving them for dead. However, one leading theory might have cracked the reason why — a funny interaction with Groot’s Bramble Shield. Fortnite Season 4 has introduced a number of Marvel hero themed abilities into the game. It’s a nice tie-in with all the new cosmetics players have been rocking across the map. However, these mythic themed abilities are overpowered at the best of times. Silver Surfer’s board can be used to get out of enclosed spaces, like box fights. Pro players have already found an exploit to get rid of the item cooldowns completely. Now, a new bug has arrived, randomly shooting players deep into the storm. While the cause of it is unknown, most seem to believe it’s tied in some way to the Marvel abilities. Multiple Reddit users have uploaded clips of themselves being thrown deep into the storm after being in a duel with someone. Often, the two players jump on top of each other, and one of them gets sent off miles away. Obviously, in the late game, this means getting stranded in the storm with no hope of recovery. No amount of meds or mats could get you back to the circle in time. Most players seem to believe the bug has something to do with Groot’s Bramble Shield. When a player activates the ball, they knock back all enemies they hit with it. If that player is directly above or below the player, they can sometimes glitch out and be thrown way off course. “My guess is that when it’s activated while a player is in the radius of the ball, the game assumes that they have been hit so hard with the ball that they are inside it. As a result, the knock back is multiplied, and sends them flying,” one player hypothesized on Reddit. It seemingly could hold true. Other players have managed to replicate the bug with the Groot ball, meaning it could be used as more of an exploit in the future. Yet again, this is another bug with the mythic items Epic will have to iron out. With the other items posing major issues for competitive integrity, it might just be a matter of when, not if, they disable them as FNCS and other major tournaments approach.

Insane Fortnite exploit allows players to aim down sights while jumping – Dexerto
Insane Fortnite exploit allows players to aim down sights while jumping An exploit has been discovered in Fortnite Battle Royale that allows players to aim down the sights of their weapon while in the process of jumping. This obviously gives players a considerably and unfair advantage because the game’s mechanics are not supposed to allow jumping and ADS to happen at the same time. The exploit is simple enough to execute – all players have to do is simply press the jump and ADS buttons at the same exact time. This then allows players to ADS while in midair, which is obviously huge because it drastically increases the accuracy with which shots can be fired while jumping. A demonstration of this exploit in action can be seen in the video below, courtesy of Reddit user ‘PyroGix.’ According to the Reddit user who made this video, the Pump Shotgun and Hunting Rifle work with this exploit, while the Heavy Assault Rifle does not. This prompted him to ask his fellow Reddit users to test out other weapons and report their findings. According to the comments, the Heavy and Silenced Sniper Rifles, as well as the Hand Cannon, all work with this exploit. Seeing as how all three of those weapons are much more accurate when ADS, they can become so much more dangerous when used with this exploit. A lot of the users in the comments section were not happy with the exploit being shown on such a public forum out of fear that Epic Games will be made aware of it and patch it. However, according to some, the exploit has been in the game since its release, so it may be something that Epic continue to overlook moving forward. Regardless, it’s worth keeping an eye on the upcoming v7.40 update to see if something about this exploits is included in the patch notes. The v7.40 update is set to go live on February 12 and will include a slew of major changes, new content, and more.

Insane 1 vs 3 Fortnite Clutch With a Single Shotgun Shell – Dexerto
Insane 1 vs 3 Fortnite Clutch With a Single Shotgun Shell A competitive Fortnite Battle Royale player has shared a clip with the most ridiculous one versus three you’ll see this month. The player, RichmondJake, took to Twitter with the statement “3 men 1 shell”, and he wasn’t exaggerating in the slightest. In the attached video, RichmondJake is in an intense 1 vs 3 fight for the Victory Royale and is constantly retreating from his attackers as he runs out of materials to build with. He tells his teammates that he is panicking before jumping over a small wall and turning to take a last ditch shot at the opponents as they close him down. Incredibly, the one shot from his Legendary Heavy Shotgun is all it takes as all three members of the other team are eliminated, giving RichmondJake and his team the Victory Royale! Understandably, the reactions from him and his team range from “oh shit” and “no way” to incoherent screaming and hysterical laughter. For the unaware, something like this is so unlikely to happen that it is almost impossible to quantify it. “Collateral” kills do not occur in Fortnite like they might in other games like Call of Duty, so the only way to kill more than one opponent with a single shot of a weapon is for the spread to hit multiple people at once (or use an RPG / Grenade Launcher). If the spread does hit more than one player, it will not do full damage to either, or any, of them, so each opponent needs to be low on health. On top of that, the likelihood of having three players run at you in the late stages of a game without anyone building a ramp or wall is minimal. Something tells us that RichmondJake will have this particular Tweet pinned for quite some time…

Infamous ‘Red Knight’ Skin Potentially Coming Back to Fortnite – Dexerto
Infamous ‘Red Knight’ Skin Potentially Coming Back to Fortnite The infamous ‘Red Knight’ skin in Fortnite: Battle Royale may be returning to the game after dataminers unveiled some in-game files following the most recent patch. Since its release in 2017, Epic Games has continuously introduced a slew of new content and features into Fortnite: Battle Royale for players to enjoy in order to keep the game ‘fresh.’ While Fortnite may be ‘free-to-play,’ the game offers a collection of in-game cosmetic items that can be purchased by players including skins, emotes, and more, allowing players to customize their respective character. More: Further Data Mining Reveals the 3D Model and Audio Files for Fortnite’s Leaked “Drum Gun” Weapon – Certain skins have gained a substantial amount of notoriety for their rarity in regards to being available for purchase in the shop, which has led community members to question whether or not they will be returning. One such instance is that of the ‘Red Knight,’ a skin which has not been seen in the Fortnite Store since mid-February, and was once thought of as a ‘seasonal’ item. However, Epic Games later confirmed that it was not seasonal, and could possibly return. Following the latest V.4.5 patch, dataminers discovered a pickaxe titled ‘Pickaxe-Flintlock-RedKnight,’ leading community members to believe that the Red Knight may be coming soon to the Fortnite Shop. As of writing, nothing has been confirmed by Epic Games regarding the return of the Red Knight, and it is unknown if it will be available to purchase in the near future. More information on the latest V.4.5 patch in Fortnite: Battle Royale can be found right here.

Infinity Blade sword returns to Fortnite – but there’s a catch – Dexerto
Infinity Blade sword returns to Fortnite – but there’s a catch One of the most overpowered weapons in Fortnite – the Infinity Blade – is back in the game, but not how players might have expected. What is the Infinity Blade in Fortnite? Epic Games first introduced the mythic item back in Season 7, allowing one player to pull the sword from its holster at Polar Peak to gain a ridiculous advantage on the battlefield. Players were able to deal huge damage to their enemies while benefitting from increased health and speed, as well as collecting materials easily; the Infinity Blade wreaked havoc during the Winter Royale grand finals which ultimately led to Epic vaulting the item. Is the Infinity Blade back in Fortnite? Now, the Infinity Blade has returned to the game as part of the limited time game mode – Sword Fight. Only weapons of legendary or epic variant can be found in the mode as well as swords which multiple players can hold at once. Fortunately, the Infinity Blade’s jumping ability has been seriously nerfed, and players are no longer to farm materials while using the item. Will the Infinity Blade be added to the default playlists? Thankfully, there are currently no plans to add the Infinity Blade back into the regular playlists, but Epic did confirm after vaulting the item that they were exploring the possibility of adding other mythic items at a later stage in the game. Eggs found in Polar Peak led to suggestions that the next mythic item could be dragon-related, but more hints haven’t been discovered in Season 8 – indicating we may have to wait until Season 9 to discover their true meaning. Therefore, Fortnite fans can rest easy with the Infinity Blade safely tucked away in an LTM, for now.

Incredible Kylo Ren Fortnite x Star Wars skin and pickaxe leaked – Dexerto
Incredible Kylo Ren Fortnite x Star Wars skin and pickaxe leaked Leakers have released images of an upcoming Kylo Ren skin to Fortnite, and it appears to capture the First Order’s evil leader with impressive accuracy. The Fortnite X Star Wars crossover event took place on December 14, seeing an exclusive clip from the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premier in-game, in the Risky Reels location. While the event was marred by some technical issues – for which hacker group ‘Lizard Squad’ have claimed responsibility – those that were able to successfully watch the event agreed it was another entertaining and ambitious crossover achieved by Epic Games. The crossover has seen numerous skins and weapons added to the game, including skins for protagonists Rey and Finn. The iconic lightsabers are also now available in-game. Kylo Ren Fortnite skin leaked Popular Fortnite leaker HYPEX has revealed the aesthetics behind a brand new Kylo Ren skin, modeled on the First Order’s malicious leader from Disney’s Star Wars trilogy. The skin is incredibly accurate, with the mask even featuring cracks on the face to replicate how it looks in the films. Fortnite leakers were specifically asked by Epic Games not to spoil the Star Wars event, but no such request surrounded new skins that are to be added to the game soon. There is no specific release date attached to the Kylo Ren skin but, with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker set to release on December 19, we can expect it to be added to Fortnite prior to that. Closer look at the Kylo Ren skin & pickaxe Aside from those initial images, some new leaked screenshots given us a closer look of the skin in-game and it looks super accurate. Fans are incredibly excited at the prospect of a Kylo Ren skin, giving players a chance to storm around the battle royale map while dressed as the primary Star Wars antagonist. That’s not all, though. Read More: When does Fortnite Winterfest start? – Many fans might have been expecting his pickaxe to be his lightsaber in Fortnite, but now that they have been added as weapons, his potential pickaxe remained something of a mystery. Well, until now. That’s also been leaked ahead of schedule. While all skins we have seen so far have been exclusively from the ‘new’ trilogy – Finn, Rey and Kylo Ren – it remains to be seen whether any characters will be added from the original trilogy. The thought of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia or even Darth Vader running around Fortnite is enough to excite any casual Star Wars fan.

Incredible Fortnite character creator would be awesome in Season 2 – Dexerto
Incredible Fortnite character creator would be awesome in Season 2 Epic Games/Reddit: THIP123One avid Fortnite fan has designed an incredible ‘character creator’ concept that would be perfect for the upcoming second season of Chapter 2. It’s fair to say that a large portion of the Fortnite community feels the game is stagnant at the moment, as they await Season 2 of Chapter 2. Despite the significant changes made when Chapter 2 launched back in October, a number of content creators appear frustrated at the lack of innovation they are seeing. While player counts are hard to come by, Epic Games’ falling revenue is indicative of fewer players. One feature that would inject some life into Fortnite Chapter 2 would be more freedom to design character skins. While there are no confirmed plans to bring this to Fortnite anytime soon, one player has devised an awesome concept for how it could look in-game. Shared to Reddit on February 8, the concept goes into insane detail as to customization options players could have. Details up for selection include character gender, facial hair and headgear. While not exhaustive, the concept was widely praised, amassing nearly 10,000 upvotes at the time of writing. By the end of the example video, the Jonesy default skin was barely recognizable as a Jonesy. Blue hair and shiny grey arms were paired with a medieval knight like torso, allowing incredible creativity away from the designs made at Epic Games. One respondent raised an excellent point, however, floating the question of why Epic would enable a feature that would potentially lower the sales of skins they add to the game. We’ve already seen Epic receptive of fan designs, with player POI creations being implemented into the game over the course of its life. Whether or not they would be equally open to a ‘character creator’ feature remains unclear, but it’s obvious that such a tool would be more than welcomed by the community, who are crying out for innovation to Fortnite Chapter 2.

Incredible Fortnite Cuddle Team Leader cosplay gets Epic Games’ approval – Dexerto
Incredible Fortnite Cuddle Team Leader cosplay gets Epic Games’ approval Epic GamesA jaw-dropping Fortnite cosplay, channeling the infamous Cuddle Team Leader skin, has garnered the approval of an Epic Games developer after it was shared to the game’s subreddit. Despite cosplaying’s inherent popularity in the world of video games, Fortnite has not become the cosplaying giant some thought it might. It’s potentially down to the difficulty of some of the skins to recreate, but that hasn’t deterred one Fortnite fan, who shared their amazing Cuddle Team Leader outfit on May 4. The cosplay was so impressive that one Fortnite developer weighed in to share their thoughts. The Cuddle Team Leader skin – a giant pink teddy bear – is on paper an impossible task, requiring massive amounts of effort and creativity. However, the daunting challenge didn’t deter Redditor ‘iraelsayre’, who recently shared their interpretation of the skin. The cosplay is bordering on flawless, with the full-body pink overalls complemented by a large foam head. There’s even a unicorn-style pick-axe in the cosplay, as well as Fortnite’s Battle Bus visible in the sky. The Redditor also explained the amount of effort they went into, stating that: “Everything [was] made by me from eva foam, fabric, blood, sweat, and tears.” It even garnered the attention of an Epic Games developer, who was quick to heap praise on the incredible cosplay. “Very good! Just noticed the Battle Bus at the last second. Nice touch.” The cosplayer’s attention to detail and obvious hard work was widely praised on Reddit, with the post sitting at nearly 800 upvotes at the time of writing. While Fortnite has not been as big for cosplaying as some thought it might, the mind-blowing outfit goes some way to prove it can be done.

Iconic Metal Gear Solid 4 intro perfectly recreated in Fortnite – Dexerto
Iconic Metal Gear Solid 4 intro perfectly recreated in Fortnite Epic GamesWith Solid Snake finally available in-game, one Fortnite player perfectly recreates the MGS4 intro with a Fortnite spin. Since Fortnite launched in 2017, Epic Games’ title has evolved into something almost entirely different than what it started as. Starting with “Save the World,” Fortnite gained immense popularity a few months later when the titular Battle Royale mode arrived. Ever since the arrival of said mode, Fortnite’s trajectory changed forever, as it continued to maintain a high standard of excellence via its in-game shop, constant content updates, and more. Chapter 5 Season 1 is no different and with the game being so vastly different compared to its humble beginnings, one player took the time to reflect, with the aid of a legendary intro from 2008. Iconic MGS4 intro given recreated with a Fortnite spin MGS4 is known for many things, but its opening monologue sticks with many the most. In the opening moments, a grizzled Solid Snake reflects on how war has changed throughout his life, as he embarks on his final mission. Despite the context being different, many have been able to use that intro to reflect on how different subjects have evolved. In this case, Twitter/X user CarlitoLopezVO cleverly applied it to Fortnite, with a short clip showing how much the game has truly changed. “Fortnite has changed,” the trailer starts with Old Snake’s voiceover and the same intro music playing. “The age of building has become the age of Zero Build,” Snake reflects. It’s rather cleverly done, and fans who know the setup of MGS4’s intro should feel right at home with Carlito’s recreation. One viewer added the “MGS4 aesthetic” to it, which further enhanced the viewing experience. Tons of praise flooded the replies, with one reply saying: “This is f**king amazing and canon in my book.” The trailer even received a response from Fortnite’s Associate Producer, who said: “Okay, but this is like, really good. Like really, really good.” Solid Snake is now available in Fortnite via the Battle Pass’ questline.

All Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 leaks: Greek theme, Pandora’s Box event & more – Dexerto
All Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 leaks: Greek theme, Pandora’s Box event & more Epic GamesFortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 2 is set to be focused around Greek mythology after a major leak has revealed various Greek-themed NPCs, skins, cosmetics, map changes, and an in-game event is coming. Fortnite is coming to a close with its groundbreaking Chapter 5 Season, which has only a few weeks remaining. This season has broken records and seen three groundbreaking new modes join, as well as major collabs with Family Guy, Solid Snake, and TMNT. As the season draws to its ultimate end, rumors and speculations for what to expect in Chapter 5 Season 2 have been intensifying. One of these rumors that has been circulating for months in the community is the theme of Greek mythology. Now, various files in the game have been discovered off the back of the new v28.30 update, which all but confirms Chapter 5 Season 2 is going to be Greek-themed. Here are all the Fortnite leaks found from trusted data miners that reveal next season’s theme is Greek. All Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Greek theme leaks According to trusted leakers in the Fortnite community of ShiinaBR, HYPEX, Guille_GAG, and FNChiefAko, numerous data files from the game itself have been discovered. These suggest that a Greek mythology theme is coming in Chapter 5 Season 2. Odyssey NPC and skin Epic Games has even added an Odyssey NPC into the Battle Royale mode with their v28.30 Fortnite update. She spawns at Ruined Reels and if you interact with her, she states: “I can feel an ancient power growing on the island” Odyssey has been found in the game files to have her own skins and cosmetics as part of the “Odyssey” cosmetic set. One of which shows her wearing armor that depicts ancient Greece. Cerberus skin Cerberus has also been revealed to allegedly be joining Fortnite this season. A skin as well as a Greek-themed Loading Screen that shows the three-headed beast and ancient Greek columns was also found by dataminers. Survey skin According to Wensoing, a new skin has been found in the files that is rumored to be a part of the Season 2 Battle Pass. As well as this, a brand-new Wrap codenamed ‘ADrip” has been discovered, and “the color scheme closely matches the survey skin.” Greek mythology event Dataminers have also stumbled upon data files that suggest that an in-game event is coming next season. A large hand, which is said to be named “Titan’s Hand,” has been discovered, which appears to be the main focal point of the upcoming event. It is made out of lava and molten rock and points toward some major map changes coming in Chapter 5 Season 2. According to various leaks, Titan’s Hand will be an animated structure on the map, in which it can be seen in the above clip rising from Lava Cracks on the map, which will be part of the event. Allegedly, it will then be able to cause earthquakes on the island and even make the Battle Bus shake. The hand can be seen holding an enormous chest or “Pandora Box” via several metal chains being wrapped around it. During the event, players who attend will then have to work together to break and release the chest to receive its rewards. The files also allegedly mention: “Tempests, Tornados, Vortexes and Lava,” in which Tempests and Tornados were featured in previous seasons. This has caused many to suggest that Titan’s Hand will be able to spawn these during the event and that these could be brought back in Chapter 5 Season 2. Potential cosmetics tease for Chapter 5 Season 2 As Season 2 rapidly approaches, teaser quality is ramping up. ShiinaBR shared two images of Greek-themed artwork, with fans thinking they point towards cosmetics, specifically skins in the upcoming battle pass. Ranked rewards HYPEX shared info on a potential Ranked reward for the upcoming season. If true, players would get the Odyssey skin with different armor colors that reflect what rank you are. Weapons It has been leaked that Epic is working on three different weapons that are expected to join Fortnite next season. These includes a Tactical Shotgun, Sniper and DMR rifle, which we have provided a full guide on. Weapon Mods As well as a brand-new weapons and guns being worked on, dataminers have found ten different Weapon Mods and attachments that are coming to the game. It is unknown whether any of the existing attachments will be vaulted in replace of the new ones, or they will just be expanded on. Flying movement mechanic Epic Games co-founder Mark Rein revealed his word for Season 2 of “Wings.” Which had leakers speculating that a previous leak from 2022 pointed towards players being able to fly winged creatures. Days later, Epic posted to their socials hinting at a new movement mechanic is coming, which has players convinced that flying is indeed being added in some form. Rumored leaks According to HYPEX, a Fortnite playtester for Season 2 has revealed a whole heap of further details for what is coming. This includes major collaborations with the hit game Persona and that Kratos will be returning, but this time with Atreus. Zeus and the different Greek gods, looks set to be a key part of the season, which would back up Epic’s first teaser images. In particular, the playtester revealed that there will be a Zeus Ability, with three stages, as well as being able to fly. It is unknown whether Zeus will be the only God with a playable ability. Four brand-new Mythics are set to join the game, much like how four TMNT Mythic weapons shaked up the meta at the later stages of Season 1. These are expected to be for different gods, such as the Cerberus Shotgun and a Hades Mythic that is a chained whip with fire. Finally, gods are also set to appear around the island as mini-bosses, which have mythological monsters as their henchmen. As more leaks are discovered for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2’s Greek Mythology theme, we will update this further.

Huge Fortnite Season 3 leaks surface: theme, map changes, more – Dexerto
Huge Fortnite Season 3 leaks surface: theme, map changes, more Epic GamesA handful of major Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 3 leaks have surfaced – with some apparent intel about the fresh theme, map changes, strange new vehicles, and even a whole host of classic skins. With Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2 drawing ever so slightly to its conclusion, fans have been gearing up and speculating about what is coming in season three. As usual, posters have popped up around the map – providing some clues and teasers about the direction of the new season. However, if you’re not one for linking all the clues together and doing the hard yards to get an answer, Fortnite YouTuber Tabor Hill apparently has the inside scoop for a source – revealing how the map is going to shake up. Now, according to the YouTuber’s source, the theme for season three is all about water – with some parts of the map going underwater, though The Agency looks set to stay. While he didn’t offer any in-depth map changes, Tabor did note that a ridable Shark will apparently be a new vehicle to that you can still get around the map. Aside from that, but sticking with the water theme, the YouTuber added that instead of Marvel making a return in the battle pass, DC Comics will take over and add Aquaman as the secret skin. This would likely take the place of Deadpool and his challenges, meaning you’d be tasked with different quests each week in order to get some Aquaman cosmetics. Tabor also added that there would be a handful of reworked skins coming in season three, including a female variant of the original Black Knight skin. There would also be new spins on Dark Vanguard and Teknique. Outside of cosmetics, the YouTuber’s source also claimed that environmental damage would be added in the form of fire. While there isn’t too much information on this, fans have speculated that you might be able to start a fire at the bottom of a building and watch it burn like Minecraft’s fire spread. Watch: Was Travis Scott the Best Fortnite In-Game Event So Far? Now, while the YouTuber’s source has been pretty reliable in the past, everything he claims is worth taking with a pinch of salt until the changes are actually made in-game. Fortnite Season 3 is expected to kick off around Thursday, June 4, so we’ve got a little bit of a waiting game just yet.

Friday Fortnite is a double elimination tournament featuring 16 duos competing against each other for the ultimate prize. Although custom games are very much available in Fortnite Battle Royale, this competition opts to go with a format that involves public matches. In each round, all of the teams matched up in the bracket will queue into a Squads lobby together, where they will then try and get as many eliminations as possible. After two matches, the team with the most eliminations will advance to the next round. Players who try and sabotage their opponents in-game could potentially face disqualification. Examples of sabotage include but are not limited to the following: Breaking or weakening opponent’s built or non built structures or cover by any means. – Causing opponents to miss shots or miss opportunities for advancing their scores in any way shape or form. – Building in front of your opponent. – Boogie Bombing your opponent. – The use of a boogie bomb on your opponent at any point in the game are subject to disqualification – $10,000 prize for one lucky viewer As with some of the previous Friday Fortnite tournaments that have been held in recent weeks, one lucky viewer will win a massive $10,000 prize, courtesy of MrBeast. The winner will be chosen from those who are actively participating in the Twitch chats of any of the competing players’ streams, and announced shortly following the conclusion of the event. How to win in Fortnite Reload: 8 best tips – Dexerto
How to win in Fortnite Reload: 8 best tips Epic GamesFortnite Reload is a new fast-paced mode that brings back the OG gameplay. Here are the 8 best tips to ensure a Victory Royale in every match. Fortnite’s latest mode Reload is making waves across the gaming space as Epic has brought a remixed version of the OG map that players love in new fast-paced mini Battle Royale gameplay. The mode pits 40 players (or 10 squads) against one another, who fight to be the last team standing. The gameplay is more action-focused, similar to the Late Game Arena LTM that Fortnite once had, although this one offers the fun in both Build and Zero Build modes and allows infinite respawn as long as a teammate in your squad is alive, as opposed to traditional BR. While Reload encourages quicker movement, decision-making, and strategy from players while they’re in a match, it’s equally challenging to get a dub so we’ve got some handy tips for you right here. 8 best tips to win in Fortnite Reload 1. Land at a safer POI at the start − other than Tilted While Tilted Towers is a desirable drop spot for OG Fortnite players and is often known as a “hot drop” landing there towards the start of a match can result in your entire team getting wiped in seconds − unless you’re a sweat. Thankfully, there are other spots on the Reload map that can be great to start your match in. Locations like Retail Row, Lone Lodge, Pleasant Park, and Dusty Docks are excellent drop spots where you can find plenty of chests and loot that can get you ready for a stronger start to the match. Plus, you’ll also wait out other squads by the time you rotate to Tilted, and survive longer. 2. Initiate a Reboot instead of waiting for a Revive The Reload mode allows you to respawn after a maximum of 40 seconds back into action once you’re eliminated. However, when your teammates are alive and you’re downed, it’s best to initiate a Reboot than to wait for a revive from your squad. This would let them focus on eliminating more enemy players and hold out the location they’re attacking from until you return to action. Asking for a revive from a teammate who’s in action can result in them spending 5 seconds just to get you back while they can utilize the same time to clear out the area of any threats. 3. Remember, more kills mean quicker Reboot for your team While Battle Royale gameplay demands you to plan out an attack on enemies rather than go in guns blazing, Reload asks you to do the opposite. Here, you shouldn’t hold back on W-keying your opponents, especially if your teammate is in the Reboot queue. In Fortnite Reload, knocking down and eliminating an enemy reduces 2 seconds each to your teammate’s Reboot time. The more kills you rack up while your teammate is awaiting Reboot, the quicker they are back in action − something that most Reload players tend to forget. 4. Carry mobility items in your inventory for quick escapes Unlike Battle Royale, vehicles and launch pads are disabled in Fortnite Reload, which means you’ll need to rely on mobility items to move around the map faster. Items like Shockwave Grenade, Grappler, and Crash Pads can help you escape the storm circle quicker and always stay on the move. These items can also help you escape a tricky situation if you’re caught in a crossfire or being rushed by enemies. So keep in mind to always have a mobility item handy and watch out for the storm. 5. Stay closer to your teammates The phrase “Teamwork makes the dream work” plays out perfectly in Fortnite Reload. Whether it’s strategizing an attack on enemies or thinking quickly on your feet, proper communication between your teammates can make your squad a force to be reckoned with. Whether it’s racking up kills to Reboot your fallen teammates faster or wiping out an entire squad, teamwork and sticking next to one another can help you hold your location and rotate to another together. 6. Camping out is the OG strategy to survive longer If you’re good at camping in Fortnite − whether it’s under an enemy build or in a bush, then consider yourself a team asset in Reload mode. While campers are frowned upon by sweats in Fortnite, in Reload surviving for longer can help your squad maintain the momentum of rebooting back in action frequently. Rather than picking a fight with an entire squad by yourself, you can just wait for your fallen teammates to return while you camp out wisely, away from enemy eyes. Furthermore, camping can also help you survive until the final storm circle when you can carry out your attack on enemies and claim the dub. 7. Always have the high ground on your opponents If you prefer the Build mode over Zero Build in Fortnite Reload, then remember to use the ABC (Always Be Cranking) strategy in Fortnite Reload. The higher ground you claim on your enemies, the better you’ll be able to restrict them in your crosshair area. Fortnite players who maintain a high ground throughout a match have a higher chance to claim a Victory Royale as they can see their enemies at all times and carry aggressive attacks on them − whether it’s breaking an enemy build or restricting them inside the storm circle. 8. Maintain a balanced loadout throughout the match Fortnite Reload is being praised by players for having better-balanced weapons than Chapter 5 Season 3’s Battle Royale due to their OG stats and mechanics. Similarly, it’s important to keep a balanced loadout consisting of a mid to long-range weapon, a close-range weapon, a utility item, consumable items, and any other weapon of your liking in a Reload match. It’s sometimes better to have a more variable loadout than carrying all mythic or exotic weapons in a match. For instance, if you like the Infantry Rifle, pair it up with a Pump Shotgun and a pray and spray weapon like a Submachine Gun or Pistol to fire at enemies quickly. Add a consumable like Chug Splash and a mobility item to your inventory and you’re all set to fight enemies to claim the coveted Victory Royale. That’s all we’ve got to offer to help you claim a win in Fortnite Reload. You can also complete Reload Quests for free rewards and also get your hands on a Mythic Goldfish that’s back on the island.

To enter a code, simply visit either the Item Shop in Battle Royale or the Loot tab in Save the World and select ‘Support a Creator.’ The full list of official Creator codes can be found HERE. The Share the Love event will kick off on February 8 and last until February 27, which will be the final day of Season 7 before Season 8 is scheduled to go live.

How to weapon swap from pickax and builds in Fortnite without making a sound – Dexerto
How to weapon swap from pickax and builds in Fortnite without making a sound A game mechanic has been found in Fortnite Battle Royale that allows players to silently swap from their pickaxes and builds to a weapon. Audio is a huge strategic component in Fortnite, and swapping weapons not only alerts enemies of a player’s nearby presence, but the cocking noise also reveals what type of weapon they are carrying. Reddit user ‘ImSpeedyGonzalez,’ who is known for his Fortnite instructional videos and tutorials, has found a way to counter this by making no noise when swapping to a weapon. According to his video, a player can silently swap to a weapon from their pickax or builds by moving forward and spamming the aim button at the same time while switching to the weapon. He demonstrates this by queuing into a match and picking up a Tac shotgun, which makes a distinct cocking noise when switched to. This new tutorial comes in addition to the one made by Reddit user ‘SCG_2018,’ which showed how to switch silently from one weapon to another. For that process, a player must simply move forwards slowly, ADS with one weapon, and then switch to another while holding down the ADS. It’s not clear whether this mechanic was added intentionally by Epic Games, or if it is merely a glitch soon to be patched. Regardless, as long as it exists in the game, players will look to use it to their advantage, especially since proximity audio is a such a tactical part of Fortnite.

With 99 entrants, it’s difficult to pick a favourite, but it’s guaranteed to be an exciting watch when the final takes place on September 3.

How to watch the Fortnite x Batman event premiere stream – Dexerto
How to watch the Fortnite x Batman event premiere stream Epic Games will be hosting a ‘premiere’ ahead of their Fortnite crossover with DC Comics and Batman. However, if you aren’t sure when and where it’ll be happening, don’t fret, we’ve got you covered. Fortnite players are no strangers to seeing crossovers pop up on the Battle Royale island. Marvel’s Avengers, Jordan shoes, and Borderlands 3 have already made their mark in-game with skins, limited-time modes, and a rift zone – while Netflix’s Stranger Things had their own skins and in-game references. Yet, the newest, which sees Epic Games link up with DC Comics to celebrate international Batman day, will mark Gotham City’s debut in Fortnite. However, before things get underway, they’re having a premiere – and here’s everything you need to know about it. Fortnite x Batman premiere stream On September 20, after plenty of rumors and speculation, Epic Games finally confirmed their crossover with Batman. The pop culture pair will link up for a premiere that will happen on Epic’s YouTube channel on September 21. While it may be a Saturday afternoon for most of the world, anyone in the United States who wants to watch the action unfold is in for an early start. The stream, which you can catch below, will begin at 8AM EDT/5AM PDT/1PM GMT/2PM CEST. How to claim Fortnite x Batman exclusive items There is an added bonus for getting out of bed early, however, and watching the unfold as players who have their Epic account linked to YouTube will receive an exclusive drop. What that is, though, remains to be seen. Yet, if your accounts aren’t linked, be sure to head to YouTube, go into your account settings, hit connected accounts and set up the link to Epic Games there. When does the Fortnite x Batman crossover begin? Just when the action will kick off in-game is up in the air as players wait for the Titled Town rift zone to morph into Gotham. There has been plenty of hints, including leaked items, missions, and cosmetics, but Epic still hasn’t announced when you’ll be able to jump into a match and live out your dreams of being the caped crusader. It could all very well come once the premiere is over, and the video could simply be a distraction for any downtime that players could be in for. Once the official word is out, though, you can be sure to get all the latest and breaking news from Dexerto.

How to watch the Fortnitemares one-time live Cube event and Butterfly mystery in Fortnite – Dexerto
How to watch the Fortnitemares one-time live Cube event and Butterfly mystery in Fortnite There is another big one-time live event happening in Fortnite Battle Royale on Sunday, November 4, as Fortnitemares comes to an end, Kevin the Cube meets his demise and the mysterious ‘Butterfly’ event is set to begin. The event will bring Fortnitemares to an end, that much we know for certain. Almost everything else comes from leaks, as data miners have uncovered various game files hinting at what will happen. Whatever it is, you will want to make sure you are in game at 1pm ET / 10am PT / 12pm CT / 6pm GMT / 7pm CET, as it likely won’t last much longer than a minute or two. You will also want to follow these tips below to make sure you don’t miss it. This is not the first in-game live event planned by Epic Games, so we can learn a thing or two from the last time, when the rocket was launched, to make sure you do not miss a second of the Fortnitemares event. Enter the Fortnitemares playlist This is the final event of Fortnitemares and Epic Games haven’t specified which modes the event will be visible, except that it won’t be in Playground LTM. So, don’t risk going into the Disco Domination mode, simply choose Solos, Duos and Squads in Fortnitemares. Connect to servers at least an hour early During the last event of Season 4 with the rocket launch, many players had problems with long matchmaking queues, when trying to connect 15 minutes before the event. Take the time to log in early to avoid this potential issue. Fortnitemares in Battle Royale ends on Sunday, November 4 at 1 PM ET (6 PM UTC). Finish your Fortnitemares Challenges by then to unlock the Dark Engine Glider. Log in early and be in-match to witness the one-time event occurring at 1 PM ET (6 PM UTC). pic.twitter.com/rUY3IryF7q — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) November 1, 2018 Do not die This one may seem obvious, but during the previous event, many people missed the launch of the rocket because they were eliminated early and didn’t have time to get into a new game. If you do die early, the best plan would be to stay in the match and spectate other players. There have been some leaks suggesting that players will be made invincible during the event, but this has not been confirmed by Epic Games, so don’t take any chances. What is going to happen? After the purple cube cracked and began to leak on November 3, it looks like whatever is happening in the live event will center around the cube and its eventual demise. Leaks suggest that the cube will split into three separate fragments, and Leaky Lake is set to return to its previous Loot Lake appearance, but with some new islands added. Finally, there are a number of game files relating to a ‘Butterfly’ event, but this is still shrouded in mystery see everything we know about Butterfly here. Update: FortniteINTEL have now provided a guide to some of the best landing spots to see the action go down. Heading to any of these circled areas should hopefully give you the best view, and if you need to move you will be in close distance to other points of interest.

How to watch The End in Fortnite: Season 10 event countdown and location – Dexerto
How to watch The End in Fortnite: Season 10 event countdown and location Epic Games‘The End’ is nearly upon us in Fortnite Battle Royale, as the Season 10 event is set to end with a bang on Sunday, October 13 – here’s everything you need to know to get ready for Chapter 2 (or Season 11). The Season 10 event is possibly the most highly anticipated in-game event ever in Fortnite, as it is expected to bring in a brand new map for the first time. Although many of the details remain unconfirmed, leaks and rumors suggest that whatever happens during the event, it will trigger the start of the leaked ‘Chapter 2’ and transport players to a new location. When is The End event? The Fortnite Season 10 event will start at 2pm EST on Sunday, October 13 (11am PST, 7pm BST). Epic Games confirmed this time thanks to the countdown in the sky above Dusty Depot, which appeared about a week before the event is scheduled to take place. How to Watch Season 10 event Like with previous events, it’s expected that there will be a new playlist for players to enter, which will hopefully be protected from enemies, meaning you can watch the event in peace. This playlist should be made available shortly before the event starts, so just be sure to be ready to jump in at around 2pm EST (11am PST / 7pm BST). If you can’t watch in-game for whatever reason, countless livestreamers will also be broadcasting the action, and you can check out top streamers like Ninja, NickEh30, and Ali-A on Mixer, Twitch, and YouTube respectively. What will happen in The End event? Following leaks of ‘Fortnite Chapter 2′ which appeared to show a brand new map, it seems all but certain that this is coming following the season-ending event. One of the biggest hints for this comes from Epic Games themselves, with a teaser image appearing to show characters waving goodbye to the battle bus – presumably as it goes to the new map. Theories suggest that the current map will be rendered inhabitable, as players are ‘sucked into a zero point’ and frozen, just like in the previous Butterfly event. At some point during the event, players will be transported outside of the current map. Some leakers have theorized that downtime for the v11.00 update will begin immediately after the event ends. EVENT LEAK: During the event, the players will be sucked into the Zero Point & will be unable to move (similar to the Butterfly event). After being sucked into the Zero Poin an currently encrypted Map will be loaded and used for the cinematic. ContainsSpoilers (h/t @Asriel_Dev) — ShiinaBR – Fortnite Leaks (@ShiinaBR) September 27, 2019 The event will apparently last around three minutes, with an extended cinematic playing to take us into the new season. New Map for Chapter 2? In addition to the iOS store leak, which showed ‘Chapter 2’, the main we have for a new map claims to reveal a host of named locations or ‘POIs’. New Location/POI tag’s added: BeachyBlufs CampCod CreativeIsland DirtyDocks FrenzyFarm HollyHedges LazyLake MountainMedow PowerPlant SlurpySwamp SunnyShores WeepingWoods— Lucas7yoshi – FNBR Leaks/News (@Lucas7yoshi) September 11, 2019 It’s unknown if both the new and current map will be playable, or if the current island is completely removed and replaced. Another theory is that it will, in fact, be the ‘same’ map, just drastically changed, almost to the point of being unrecognizable. We’ll simply have to wait until the event is over to know for sure. Stay tuned to Dexerto for everything you need to know.

The scene will be played on the big screen located in Risky Reels, a drive-in movie theater located on the Fortnite map as a landmark to its predecessor from Chapter 1. However, it’s unlikely that Epic will actually make players gather at the location on their own. Instead, the special LTM they put in will probably be restricted to the boundaries of Risky and restrict players from leaving. Furthermore, it’s almost certain that the LTM will be designed in such a way that either prevents players from dealing damage to each other or will have respawning enabled so that anyone who gets eliminated can just load back in right away. How to get free TIE Whisper Glider during Star Wars x Fortnite event? Not only will this event feature an exclusive scene from Rise of Skywalker, Epic will also be handing out free gliders based on the TIE Whisper vehicle from the film. How to watch Loot Lake rune in-game event – schedule, location, streams and more – Dexerto
How to watch Loot Lake rune in-game event – schedule, location, streams and more After weeks of teasers across the Fortnite Battle Royale map, the long awaited in-game event at Loot Lake is just around the corner – here is all you need to know to not miss out. What is the Loot Lake rune event? Strange runes appeared on the map on April 19, travelling around the landscape when players inflicted enough damage, before finally ending their journey at the recently updated Loot Lake point-of-interest. Data miners and leakers have since speculated that the event could be part of the ‘unvaulting’ process which would see fans vote on which weapon they would like to be reintroduced to the game. Such weapons have been appearing on screens at Loot Lake suggesting that fans will be able to pick their favourite from; the tactical SMG, the drum gun, the infinity blade, the drum gun, the grappler or bouncers. When is the Loot Lake rune event? The event will take place on Saturday, May 4, kicking off at exactly 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM BST. Epic Games confirmed the time after quote tweeting an image where a 24-hour countdown appeared over Loot Lake. Read More: Rise Nation drop two pro FortniteBR players who were caught cheating in World Cup qualifiers – Leakers have also found files similar to the Marshmello event, meaning that any players in-game at that time will be unable to eliminate each other meaning no one has their experience ruined by a pesky default skin. Where will it happen? Unsurprisingly, the event will be taking place at Loot Lake, just outside of Tilted Towers and Pleasant Park. However, if the event is the same as Marshmello, every player will be transported to the location regardless of their position on the map meaning you won’t have to worry about getting there. How can I watch? If you’re unable to hop into the game and experience the event for yourself, many of the top streamers on Twitch and YouTube will be able to showcase what goes down. Top streamer Ninja will of course be broadcasting the action, you can check out his stream below. Watch live video from Ninja on www.twitch.tvWhat else can we expect? It’s not yet known whether this event will link to the upcoming Volcano eruption which is set to create a huge wave of destruction on the map. Nevertheless, if the leaks turn out to be true, players could get their hands on a vaulted weapon, most of which were deemed extremely overpowered leading to their removal in the first place. Fans of the competitive scene will be hoping that Epic Games make some necessary adjustments before re-adding the fan-voted item back into the default playlists.

How to watch Fortnite’s Ice Storm live in-game event – Ice King reveal, Ice Zombies and more – Dexerto
How to watch Fortnite’s Ice Storm live in-game event – Ice King reveal, Ice Zombies and more Update: The live event has now taken place – you can watch the full event if you missed it, plus a full rundown of all the changes. Another live event has taken place in Fortnite on January 19, with the mysterious sphere of ice revealing its true purpose, with the Ice King trapped inside. The sphere of ice appeared following the V7.20 update for Fortnite, and players later noticed that inside the sphere was the ‘Ice King’ character himself. Markings of a clock later appeared around the sphere, indicating a countdown to yet another live event, like the previous ‘Fortnitemares’ event and the rocket launch. The mysterious ice sphere. Fortnite fans were left to speculate on what exactly will happen, but the markings do at least tell us exactly what time the event would take place. Video If you missed the event in game, you can watch the whole thing in the clip below, courtesy of @LeaksUltimate. The Ice King was revealed to players, coming out as a wind-like giant, summoning a massive snow storm across the map. It appeared the Ice King used the power of Kevin the Cube to summon the storm, as he was seen spinning a cube fragment before the event started. A video from @FNBRHQ shows the Ice King spinning what appears to be a cube fragment inside the ice sphere. A strange light fog had also been noticed on the Fortnite map, and this also affected the entire map following the event. Playground mode and all LTM modes were disabled temporarily in Fortnite, so everyone would avoid missing the event by being in the wrong playlist. You can see all map changes and ice zombie details here.

How to watch Fortnite World Cup while playing with Picture-in-Picture – Dexerto
How to watch Fortnite World Cup while playing with Picture-in-Picture Epic GamesWhile the headline additions to v9.41 Content Update were the Storm Scout Sniper and birthday items, a brand-new ‘Picture-in-Picture’ mode was quietly introduced to the game that could be a gamechanger for those who plan to watch this weekend’s Fortnite World Cup. Epic Games are well-known for their willingness to try new things in Fortnite, and it seems that they plan on letting players watch the Fortnite World Cup, which kicks off on July 26, in the game without having to pass on the chance to secure Victory Royales. While many games allow you to watch streams when sitting in the menus, none have ever attempted a live event viewer during gameplay – that is, until now. How to watch Fortnite World Cup using ‘Picture-in-Picture’ streaming Watching the Fortnite World Cup using the game’s built-in ‘Picture-in-Picture’ streaming is simple, with Epic Game’s explaining the process in a special blog post detailing all the different ways you can stream the tournament. When you open your game and head into the Fortnite lobby, you will see a new “Watch Now!” button in the top right corner of the screen. Simply click on this to start opening up the PiP video. While you wait, there’s a Durrburger mini-game to keep you occupied, and once the video loads, you will be able to watch it on a small video player, or click on it to make full screen. While watching the tournament and battling opponents at the same time sounds like a good idea, the viewer will likely cause a dip in the quality of play seen in the game, as players will surely struggle to watch the world’s best players and win build battles simultaneously. Players who would rather not watch and play at the same time can turn the Picture-in-Picture mode off in the game’s settings, but it won’t officially go live until Friday when the tournament begins.
