As seen with characters like Deadpool in previous seasons, Aquaman has brought along his own set of weekly challenges that players will need to complete in order to unlock his skin variants. For the second week, Fortnite fans will have to travel to Sweaty Sands to ride a Loot Shark with a Fishing Pole, a new feature that was introduced in Season 3. First things first, you will need to find a Fishing Pole, they can be found scattered all over the map however, there are plenty in barrels with these rods around Sweaty Sands as well. Once you get the Fishing Pole, you will need to look for a shark in the water at Sweaty Sands and simply cast your line out in that direction. While you do not need to hit the shark with the line, it may take a short while for it to approach, so you might want to make sure the area is clear before attempting this challenge. A common feature seen in many of the top battle royale games is the ability to revive teammates after their health drops to zero. After taking too much damage, a player will be put into a ‘knocked’ or ‘downed’ state where they are unable to fight back and have restricted movement, but can be revived if a teammate can get to them in time. The same is seen in Fortnite and, while it usually takes ten seconds to help others back to their feet, players have now found a glitch that skips the animation completely, instantly reviving any downed teammates. This simple trick was shared by YouTuber OrangeGuy, who revealed that it appears to work best with a pet backbling equipped in Fortnite. The YouTuber explained that reviving a teammate is usually possible from any angle but there’s one spot, in particular, near the backbling that can instantly revive players. How to instantly revive players in Fortnite Have your teammate equip a pet backbling such as Ohm’s Perch. – If they are knocked, angle your crosshair above their backbling. – The revive prompt should disappear and reappear once you line it up correctly. – Simply tap the revive button right as the pop-up disappears and it should instantly revive your teammate. – While the glitch seems fairly straightforward, it can take a while to get used to and might take some practice before testing it out in a live game. As it is very unlikely that Epic Games intended to add this feature into Fortnite Season 3, they will probably look to implement a fix for this bug in one of their future updates. [jwplayer BbiWbi4j] Fortnite’s v14.30 update brought a change to the game’s NFL skins, removing the name and logo for the team formerly known as the Washington Redskins. After years of public backlash, the team removed their nickname and are now officially called the “Washington Football Team” while they work on getting a new trademark. In-game, the team has been removed from the available options in their line of NFL skins. Now, when you visit the customization tab, Washington will be the last option with no logo. With this change, Epic is allowing players to return their purchase for a limited time – without using a refund token. But this exchange isn’t as straightforward as you might think, and has led to some confusion amongst players trying to figure out how to do it. Players who still have refund tokens should be able to navigate to the proper tab by going to Settings > Profile (far right) > Lifetime Return Requests > Submit a Request. There, you should see the NFL outfit listed as one of the items eligible for returns. But, if you’ve already used all of your refund tokens, the “Submit a Request” Button won’t’ be active. Another problem you may run into is that your game didn’t update right away, making the NFL skin not show up as a return option – until it does update at least. The good is that a fix for this is very simple: all you need to do is play a game or enter and leave Creative Mode. After that, you’ll see the prompt shown below and will be able to navigate to the Settings tab and issue a refund. While the NFL skins were a fun addition to Fortnite for a lot of gamers, some players have found that they don’t use these skins as much as they did when they first came out. Trading one of these in will net you 1,500 V-Bucks as well, which could almost seem like an extra payday if you bought the skin a year or two ago. Here’s how you can do it. The ‘ghost peek’ strategy was employed by every top-level Fortnite player after people started to see Tfue use it to great success. It worked by players peeking quickly out of the top of structures without showing themselves server-side, being able to shoot your opponents safely without much counterplay. While it was quickly patched out back in 2018, it seems to have reared its ugly head again in a recent patch, although it’s a lot harder to pull off. It works on the same premise of crouching behind your build, peeking up briefly to take your shot, and quickly crouching back down. You jump to get out of the crouch, take a shot while your character model is still standing up, and then crouch again to get back down. The window to pull off the timing of the shot is very small, as if you take too long, you’ll send yourself launching into the air instead of keeping yourself hidden. To get around this, setting some custom keybinds could help. If you aren’t a mouse-and-keyboard player, don’t stress, it’s still possible to pull off this exploit on controller. However, you need to get your timings even more precise, and some practice wouldn’t go astray so that it becomes second nature again. Since the footage of the exploit reappeared on Reddit on January 19, and was shared around by Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan, more players are now taking to abusing the quirk once again. If you manage to touch the lava, it will deal 20 damage to you, but you can build on top of the lava to increase your chances of survival. You will also be given materials as every second goes by, as building will prove pivotal if you want to escape the lava and avoid a quick exit back to the lobby. The premise of the competition is simple – players will need to try and finish Cizzorz’s new Deathrun 3.0 course as fast as they can and submit their fastest completion time along with video proof. The top five players in terms of fastest completion time will receive a share of the $10,000 prize pool, with the first place prize set at a whopping $5,000. The competition was officially announced and kicked off on February 25 and will be open until March 10, which means players have less than two days to try and submit their best completion time. In each round, four players will be eliminated at the end, meaning an entire match will last four rounds in total. The actual gameplay of Battle Stage works in the same way it does in Festival, where you need to press specific buttons on your controller or keyboard in rhythm with the song. Each player will be given the same song to play, but each person can choose their difficulty and band role. The higher the difficulty, the better the score you can earn. To perform the phase, simply walk over to the wall you want to walk through, and place down a floor piece beside it. Then, stand on one of the corners connected to the wall, and edit the floor so that the only remaining section is the one you’re standing on. Players then need to walk alongside the barrier they have created until they reach the wall, and beginning editing the wall, creating a window on the opposite side from where you intend to walk through. Once the edit has been confirmed, simply walk forward and your character will phase through the wall and appear on the other side. This trick will work on any material, with the video showcasing the move working on wooden, brick and metal walls, ensuring you can pull off the trick as long as you have enough materials to do it. This is perfect for taking on enemy ‘turtlers’, who have decided to build themselves a hiding spot to avoid confronting players, but players will need to take control of the wall first to put this to good use. While this is an extremely handy trick, it’s unlikely that Epic Games allow it to remain in the game for long, so Fortnite fans should keep an eye on future patch notes to see if it has been removed.

As the weapon has been added as floor loot, players have been picking it up with regularity and trying to get to grips with how best to use it. Though, there are a few tips already. Always charge up the Charge Shotgun Though the Charge Shotgun can be used as a normal shotgun, pumping out shots in one burst, its most effective use comes when it is being charged up. When you hold down your aim button, the gun’s charge up meter will quickly tick up to full power. By unleashing a fully-powered shotgun at close range, players can deal around 120 damage. That is enough for a one-shot kill in the early game, as well as being able to take down a single wall. However, charging it up leaves you vulnerable and after shooting, there is a slight cooldown period. Charge Shotgun damage stats As of writing, there are six variants of the Charge Shotguns in-game – all the way from Common to Mythic. Each variant deals damage differently and takes a different amount of time to reload – with the Mythic, obviously, excelling in both categories. Players will need to find a Quadcrasher, but will also need to get their hands on a shotgun and lots of ammo to make this work. Hop onto the Quadcrasher, but sit in the passenger seat, and aim your shotgun just to the left of the exhaust on the right hand side of the vehicle. Begin to fire your weapon, and you should see numbers popping up that indicate you are doing damage to the vehicle. Eventually, the Quadcrasher should appear to explode, but you will find yourself still perched on the back of the invisible bike. Once this has happened, you will be able to switch seats and begin to drive the invisible Quadcrasher, with only the booster at the back visible to other players. This glitch was originally found on Wednesday, December 19, and it’s currently unclear whether it was created during the V.710 update or has been in the game for some time. It’s likely that this will be fixed in the near future, as Epic Games are vigilant regarding bugs like this, and have actually placed items temporarily in the vault in the past to stop people abusing exploits.

It seems like each day there are more and more Fortnite bugs uncovered and this latest one is quite game-breaking. One player discovered there’s a way to make walls appear invisible, which will allow you to see enemies while also remaining completely safe from harm. What makes this bug even worse is it’s extremely easy to do. Reddit user Vaskss showcased what the walls look like from your perspective and explained how to do it in just a sentence. “To do this you need to break the amount you want gone,” they said. “Then you need to click your Repair and Edit button At the same time and it should work (Brick works Best).” Obviously, those are very simple instructions as all you’ll have to do is pickaxe the wall until it gets as damaged as you’d like and then you’re in business. Of course, your enemy will have the same point of view you do, but they just won’t know you’re well protected. This issue definitely seems like something that would have to be patched sooner rather than later but with communication dying down in Fortnite Season 2, there’s no telling when a fix will arrive. The developers used to be quite active on Reddit, but now the comments are becoming few and far between. Once enough players learn how to perform this exploit, it’ll definitely be abused so it’d be nice to see Epic address this one as soon as they can. Once there, you will see five armed Stark Robots patrolling the area, so grab a weapon and get ready for a fight. Once you’ve got a weapon, knock one of the Stark Robots using your gun, but make sure you don’t deal so much damage that you destroy it entirely. To unlock recipes for both, however, there are certain resources you’ll need to have in your inventory. For the Basic Compass, you’re required to have Glass in your inventory. As for Survival Compass, that would be Copper Bar. How to make 16 player lobbies in Fortnite Battle Royale Epic GamesBeginning on April 30, players in Fortnite Battle Royale are able to group up in parties of up to 16 and jump into any game mode that supports more than 4-player squads. For modes like 50v50 or the recent Avengers: Endgame crossover, you might find yourself wanting the ability to drop into the mode with more than just your three closest friends. With this larger party feature, Epic Games has added the ability to join games with up to 16 players meaning none of your friends will be left behind when you want to try out a large-scale LTM again. How does it work? Next time you log into Fortnite, you’ll notice a new tab at the bottom called ‘Squad Formation’ where you’ll be able to see the normal 4-man squad called Llama Squad. There are three other squads too – Crab Squad needs five members, Bear Squad needs nine and Dragon Squad needs at least 13. The Large Party format works pretty much exactly how you’d expect it to – just keep inviting friends until the limit is reached. The squad names don’t really matter but they do sound cool. Keep in mind that, while you can create these large parties, if you try to go into a mode like Duos or Squads with more than the usual number of players you will be blocked from doing so. The quest is challenging, but this guide will help you complete it quickly and easily. After great anticipation, Chapter 4 Season 3 of Fortnite has finally arrived with a new jungle biome, taking players to the WILDS and introducing them to new weapons and handy items. Since the release of the seasonal update, players have been venturing into the dense jungle and ancient ruins, using their new arsenal of weapons and mechanics, such as the ability to use Grind Vines. Additionally, a series of quests that fit in well with this season’s lore have also been introduced and must be completed by players in order to earn XP and progress along their Battle Pass. Snapshot Quests is a mission chain led by Aura, the newest NPC and a renowned gold thief on the Island. Players are tasked with retrieving a Chalice with enough dark powers to instantly level the entire Island up and deliver it to Aura so that the Island can remain safe. Here’s how you can locate the Chalice easily in Fortnite using Aura’s map. Locate the Chalice using Aura’s map on the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 island The Snapshot Quests are a new questline divided into four segments. The first three phases of the quest include players stealing field notes regarding the chalice, delivering it to Aura, and then investigating and bringing examples of Petroglyphs embedded in rocks to the NPC. After completing the first three, you’ll unlock the fourth, which also has three stages and whose ultimate objective is to deliver the Chalice of Cubetastrophe to Aura on the island. The first step is to report to Aura and agree to the mission. Upon interaction, the NPC will advise you to carry spare gold bars and locate the Chalice using the map placed next to her. Interact with the map and you’ll get a prompt with a hint that the Chalice is where “Anvil Square once stood”. Open the Fortnite map and look for a magnifying glass icon, which is the location of the Chalice. You’ll find a ruined temple with stairs and a secret passageway once you get there. Follow the arrow in the image above into the secret chamber. As you walk inside the room, you will locate a pedestal that will prompt you to offer 100 Gold Bars in order to reveal the Chalice. However, you will be granted 20,000 XP as soon as you enter the room. After placing an offering of 100 Gold Bars on the pedestal, the Chalice will be revealed and you can pick it up to finish the quest and get an extra 40,000 XP. If you approach the Chalice while wearing either a male or female skin, you will be changed into Oro or Orelia, respectively. Gather the Chalice, then return to Aura’s location to pass it over to the NPC and complete the Snapshot Quest. Upon completion, you will instantly be granted XP and you’ll see the quest progress as complete in Quests Tab in the game. How to look through walls on Fortnite without being exposed Line of sight is critical in Fortnite, and a new Youtube video by streamer Marcos Gonzalez demonstrates a technique that allows players to look through their own constructions. The video begins with Gonzalez explaining that this method looking through walls isn’t new or recently added, “I think a few people know about it, but I think the awareness isn’t high enough.” Standing in a one-square structure he constructed with his right shoulder on the wall, Gonzalez moves his camera into the wall and is able to clip about 1/3 through, providing a clear view to the outside. This camera-clipping method is superior to the current meta because players aren’t editing their structure, Gonzalez explains in the video, “I’m not refreshing the metal, I’m completely safe in fully built metal.” He warns that some harvesters can go through the wall and expose players positions, and recommends using a forward facing weapon like a rifle. This step can take you around 30 to 45 minutes. – Next, hop into Battle Royale, take down the three bosses, and aim for mythic weapons. Depending on how well the games go, this can take about one hour or one hour and a half to gain 6-7 levels. – Weekly and kickstart quests also give a lot of XP, as do milestones. Completing a full week of quests should take about an hour and a half. – If you’re multitasking, use LEGO Fortnite in AFK mode – just move your mouse every 15 minutes to avoid getting kicked. – Playing creative maps can also earn you a lot of XP. I’ve really been enjoying The Pit (4590-4493-7113) and Go Goated! Zone Wars (3305-1551-7747). If you’d prefer sticking to official modes, try Rocket Racing or Fortnite Reload. Playing for 30 minutes to an hour will help you make solid progress toward leveling up. – Altogether, this method helps you earn levels fast without grinding too hard. You can switch from one to the other to avoid getting burned out. Alternative methods to level up in Fortnite If this strategy isn’t enough for you, here is every other way in which you can get XP in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4: 1. Complete those Weekly Quests Every Tuesday, the game adds new challenges that range from easy tasks like collecting ammo or dealing damage with a certain weapon to harder ones like finding hidden items around the Island. Each quest grants a big chunk of XP when completed, so working your way through all of them every week is, without a doubt, the best way to max out your Battle Pass fast. Use Party Assist to complete challenges faster One of the most useful features of Fortnite is the Party Assist function. If you play with friends in Duos, Trios, or, best of all, Squads, any progress you make toward completing qualifying quests will be shared between all players on the team. This is especially handy when tackling challenges with multiple tiers. For example, if a quest asks you to land 25 headshots in total, that could take you a quarter of the time it normally would if your entire squad is aiming for headshots. 3. Grind toward Fortnite Milestones Players will be glad to know that Milestones are still around in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4. Most of these Milestones are menial tasks like driving a certain distance or destroying items, so they’re pretty simple. As a result, you’ll probably tick them off without even realizing it during regular everyday play, but it does help to know what they are. Fortunately, you can view all of your Milestones in the Quests menu. Some of these Milestones require you to use different weapons or items, so it’s worth switching it up every now and then (even if that does mean trading your powerful shotgun for a pistol). 4. Earn Survivor Medals in Battle Royale Another effective way to gain XP in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 is by earning Survivor Medals, which can be found on the Quests screen in a tab called Survivor Medals at the bottom left. There are multiple tasks to be completed with multiple progression levels to keep you occupied. They revolve around how long you survive in your Battle Royale games, with the first quest stating: “Reach 30 players remaining with an elimination.” After you complete each stage you will earn 20,000 XP, and they will get progressively harder. 5. Level up in Creative, Save The World, and other modes Believe it or not, you can gain easy XP in Fortnite by spending time in Creative Mode or playing Save The World. This is ideal if you’re bored of the regular Battle Royale action or you’ve completed all of your Weekly Quests. Even better, Chapter 5 also has three games within Fortnite – Rocket Racing, LEGO Fortnite, and Festival, each of which contributes to your Battle Pass XP as they have their own set of quests. Complete each quest across these modes to gain XP or a level-up token. 6. Purchase Battle Pass levels No one wants to purchase Battle Pass levels in Fortnite – and you should be able to level up easily enough using the other methods on this list – but there’s no denying that this is the quickest way to level up in just a few seconds. Each Battle Pass level costs 150 V-Bucks to level up, but, you can purchase several levels at once at a discounted rate. However, Epic states that you can only buy up to 100 battle pass levels every season. 7. Get a Fortnite Victory Royale! While this may seem obvious, one of the easiest ways to earn XP in Fortnite is to do well in the traditional Battle Royale mode. You’ll be awarded a small amount of XP for every elimination you dish out up until a certain number, with stacking bonuses on offer, and you’ll earn progressively more XP for every Storm cycle you survive. How to link multiple existing Fortnite console accounts Epic Games have released a step-by-step tutorial on how players can link their multiple existing Fortnite accounts across different consoles. This comes in the wake of Sony’s monumental announcement that they are opening up the Playstation 4 to cross-play with the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. However, since the PS4 did not support cross platform play and progression with other consoles before now, users had been forced to make separate accounts and could not carry over their progress nor transfer their cosmetic items. In an effort to resolve this, Epic have announced that they will be implementing an “account merging” system, which would will allow players to combine console-linked accounts and transfer over their cosmetic item purchases, statistics, progression, V-Bucks, and more. Although this system will not be released until sometime in November, players can get a head start by linking their console accounts together now. It is important to note that linking accounts will currently only affect future progressions and purchases, and will NOT transfer over existing purchases and progression. Users will have to wait until the account merging system is fully implemented before any of their existing content can be transferred. That being said, here is a full, step-by-step guide on how to link multiple Fortnite accounts on console, as provided by Epic Games. STEP 1 – IDENTIFY A PRIMARY AND SECONDARY CONSOLE ACCOUNT. You first need to determine the following: Which console holds the purchases and progression you care the most about? Let’s call this your Primaryconsole. – Which console are you okay with not having access to its purchases until you complete the account merge flow in November? Let’s call this your Secondary console. – In our example scenario, let’s pick PlayStation as the Primary console, and Switch as the Secondary. STEP 2 – ENSURE BOTH CONSOLE ACCOUNTS ARE UPGRADED TO NEW EPIC ACCOUNTS Note: You’ll need to perform the following steps for BOTH your Primary and Secondary console accounts. At the end of this process, you’ll have two separate Epic accounts, each associated with one console. Follow these steps for each account to create an Epic Account association: Visit www.epicgames.com and sign out of any accounts that are signed in. – Click SIGN IN in the top right corner of the page. – On the Sign In page, select the console (such as say PlayStation or Switch) that you are logging into. For our example scenario, we are first checking to see if our Switch account has an Epic Account association and are selecting the Switch icon. – Use the sign-in pop up that appears for the selected console (in this case, Switch). – If you are redirected back to the Epic Games home page, skip to step 7. Complete the following fields on this page to create a new Epic Account that will automatically be associated with the selected console. It is important to put in a valid email address as you will have to verify it before you can complete the process. – As a reminder, you MUST do this for both your Primary and Secondary console accounts in order for this process to work. How to defeat Fortnitemares Storm King – tips & weak spots Fortnite Battle Royale players grinding their way through the game’s Halloween inspired Fortnitemares challenges have one big task in front of them – defeating the Storm King. The huge raid boss has been available in the Save the World game mode for quite some time, although because it’s behind a paywall, not everybody will have had the chance to see it in action. With that being said, Epic Games not only made it available in Battle Royale with the v11.10 update, but put a huge target on its head by asking players to take it down in order to complete this year’s Fortnitemares challenges. So, how is the best way to do it? Let’s take a look. In order to take on the Storm King, simply jump into the game modes section of Fortnite and select the Storm King LTM – as seen above. From there, you will be pitted against the monster. Fortnite’s Storm King Weak Spots Those who have taken a look through the challenges since they were released on October 29 will know that while the beast might have a huge size advantage over players, it does also have some weak spots for them to target. But, not everybody will know where they are. They are actually quite easy to spot, though. If you look closely at the Storm King’s body, it has a number of small gold areas which you will need to fire at. These are, of course, the weak spots. You will quickly be able to work out just how much damage you have done to the weak spots as a damage bar will start filling up at the top of the screen. One of the Fortnitemares challenges is to reach 10,000 damage, but striking him down will take care of that. Next, aim at the horns Fire at three of these weak spots consistently and you will notice that the horns – on its head – will become fragile. That’s going to be your next area to target. Shoot at the first horn until the second one unlocks. Once both horns have been destroyed, weak spots all over its body will become fragile and everybody inside the LTM has the chance to check off the challenge. Using whatever weapon you have picked up, open fire at these gold areas until the beast falls. Don’t be impatient, though, as it does take time. Storm King tips These instructions might sound simple to follow, but it’s worth noting that the Storm King can deal some eye-watering amounts of damage with big attacks of its own. Be sure to follow these tips to help you along the way. Takedown as many zombies as you can. They drop items and bullets. More ammo the better! – There’s a lot going on, but try not to end up in the storm. – Pick up as many meds as possible when they spawn. – Revive every teammate you can during the battle. – Aim for the weak spots quickly after they appear. – Always keep moving as the Storm King sends out attacks regularly. – Don’t build too high. Periodically the beast destroys all materials in the area. – Good luck with the fight and hopefully, having completed this Halloween task – arguably the toughest on the list this year – your Fortnitemares challenges will all be completed in no time. How to land a lot faster in Fortnite using the new glider system Recently, Epic Games made a significant change to the way gliders operate in Fortnite Battle Royale, and if you use it correctly you can land a lot faster than your opponents at the start of a game. Since Fortnite’s release, the fastest way to land at the start of a match was to simply aim for the lowest point, typically the sea area or valleys. Doing so would mean the the glider (which slows your descent) would be automatically pulled out later, allowing you to dive for longer and therefore land faster. However, that was before you were able to redeploy your glider at any time. With this ability added in the v6.20 update, there is now a much more efficient way to beat your opponents down to the island. Rather than aiming for low points, you should do the exact opposite. Aim for a high building or hill, or just anything with a ledge you can jump from. Then simply jump from this ledge, pulling your glider out at the latest possible moment, allowing you to dive fast from the high point, as shown in this video from YouTuber ImSpeedyGonzales. Obviously this method is somewhat dependent on finding a suitable high ground which you can jump from after landing, but there are numerous hills and buildings that are suitable, depending on which journey across the map the bus takes. And it doesn’t just need to be hills and buildings, as SpeedyGonzales shows, tall trees are also suitable, as you can land on top of them and then jump off.

The Shooting Range item comes in four rarities, with the difficulty of the range increasing every time the rarity of the item does. Once placed, the Port-A-Shooting-Range has four more vending machines, that allow users to choose which guns they want to practice with. The common rarity item spawns two AI controlled bots which stand still, while the uncommon version of the Port-A-Shooting-Range has the two bots running from side to side, meaning players will have to track their enemies while they aim to ensure they hit their shot. The rare Port-A-Shooting-Range sees the bots running in circles, making it even harder to track their movement, while the Epic version requires players to snipe a mixture of moving and still targets from long rage. YouTuber ‘Beaks’ suggests building up into the air before placing the Port-A-Shooting-Range, as if you attempt to place the item on sloped ground, it will glitch through the earth and won’t work properly.
