Here’s how you can get your hands on it. Vaults were added into Fortnite in Chapter 2 as a place to grab exclusive, overpowered loot that could turn the tides of a game in your favor. Since then, many fights have broken out around them, as players look to contest others to get their hands on the prized possessions. While it’s slowly dwindled out, the bickering could continue in an upcoming patch, with a secret vault — and its key — being discovered after the v12.30 patch. YouTuber ‘Ali-A’ released a tutorial on April 7, highlighting a new room that could be coming to Fortnite soon. You’d think the vault would be positioned in an obvious spot — a POI where plenty of players drop to fight — but that doesn’t seem to be the case with this new vault key card, tied to Meowscles. The secret lies in a relatively inconspicuous warehouse in the bottom-right corner of the map. While the key card may be called the Yacht key card, it’s most definitely not found there, and it doesn’t point towards it when you get it either. To get the special keycard, you have to defeat Meowscles in the cardboard box factory. If you find the right angle, it should be pretty easy to do without taking any damage. However, you’ll have to be careful for people third-partying, or stealing the card from you after getting the kill. From there, the key card will point you towards the Agency. Once you make your way to the point of interest, you’ll have to do some diving into the river to find the treasure. For mobile readers, the related segment begins at 4:40. The key card will — eventually — be used to activate a vault near the Agency. However, when players approach the underwater shelter, the key card prompt will not pop up, for now. It might be a case of Epic adding the item an update too early, and so players can expect it to possibly be patched out in the coming days. However, it’s good to know for when the next chapter of the Ghost vs. Shadow event comes out.

While the title character, Guy, won’t be appearing as a playable character in Fortnite, another character from the movie called Dude (who’s also played by Ryan Reynolds) will be available to purchase as a skin. How to get the ‘Dude’ Free Guy skin in Fortnite Like the majority of crossovers that have been released in Fortnite, the Free Guy skin will be available to purchase from the Item Shop. No price has been confirmed, but expect it to be around 1,500 V-Bucks. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like there are any matching cosmetics for now, but we could be surprised with a back bling or pickaxe when it arrives in the Item Shop. That said, update 30.20 brings the explosive device back, which is perfect timing since Chapter 5 Season 3 has been a vehicle-heavy meta. How to get Remote Explosives in Fortnite Remote Explosives can be found via ground loot or in chests, much like most of the Battle Royale’s items. If you can’t find them via those two methods, you can purchase them directly from Vengeance Jones in the area southwest of the Nitrodrome for 180 Gold Bars. Players can only hold up to six Remote Explosives in a stack. To use them, simply toss them with your aim button or keybind, and then detonate them with the fire button. As mentioned, with Chapter 5 Season 3 focused on vehicles, the return of items like the Boogie Bomb and Remote Explosives to Fortnite make for perfect counters. You can place the explosives on a vehicle as a trap, or you can place them down as a sort of “proximity mine.” That’s not the only thing update 30.20 introduced. These all have the Ride the Lightning Mythic guitar placed on them, which you can just walk over to and pick up as you would any other loot. Chapter 2 Season 4 is drawing to its rapid conclusion, but for those who haven’t managed to rank their Battle Pass up to max level just yet, Epic Games have added four weeks of XP Xtravaganza challenges to give you a final push towards the Tier 100 skin. With foil skins also up for grabs for any players who reach Level 220, it’s definitely time to get some last-minute XP farming in, and this challenge should give you a nice boost. Of course, catching 10 fish sounds fairly straight forward, but what may confuse some players is the fact that you need to use a Pro version of the Fishing Rod Item. If you’re struggling and aren’t sure what you’re looking for, we’ve got all the information you need to make this task a doddle. How to catch 10 fish with a Pro Fishing Rod First thing’s first, you need to know what you’re looking for. Figuring out what makes Pro Fishing Rod “pro” may sound tough, but it’s actually fairly simple, as the bait on the end of the line is a Peely-shaped hook, while the rod itself is golden in color rather than black. They can be found inside Barrels like regular Fishing Rods, but you are leaving things to chance, as not every cluster of rods will have one. With the start of Chapter 2, Season 4, the vaults have become even more popular as you need to defeat one of the Marvel characters to get inside. This means that you get superpowers on top of all the rare loot. Though, some players are bypassing the superhero fight and just heading straight for the vault – using a new twist on a classic glitch to get inside without needing a keycard. As YouTuber GlitchKing shows, it’s pretty easy to get inside the vault without a keycard. In fact, you just need a car of some kind. Once you have a car, you simply have to drive under the metal stairs that are outside of the building where the vault. As you drive underneath and keep accelerating, you should be propelled inside of the vault. Though, as the YouTuber shows in some other attempts, you can also knock down some of the walls around the vault and drive into them too – as if this were Harry Potter and you’re looking for Platform 9 and ¾. It may do you best to stick around the edges of the battle, taking pot shots at Zeus while he focuses on other players closer to him. Be sure to take these other players out and move in close once Zeus’ health is low enough. Once he is defeated, Zeus will drop both the Huntress DMR and his Thunderbolt, a massive haul for finishing the fight. Having both weapons will be a huge boost to your damage in the game. The Huntress DMR itself gives you the ability to hit enemies from afar, so you can stick to cover and take them out at a distance. Though, you won’t just be handed them all. Only the top 5% of players will grab the skin, the top 25% will claim the pickaxe, while the top 50% of players will take home the spray. This new system kicks off today on July 18, and here’s what you need to do to get your hands on some sweet new items. How do I get Fortnite rewards through YouTube Drop? Getting rewards on YouTube Drop is simple, as players simply need to link their YouTube and Epic Games accounts together. Doing this is simple, but you’ll need to have access to both the Epic and YouTube accounts you want to link together. Once you have successfully logged into YouTube on a desktop browser: Go to accounts and select Settings – Under the “Connected accounts section, select your Epic Games account. – Click or tap CONNECT. – Sign into your Epic Games account. – Once your accounts have been connected, you will need to watch 20 minutes of a livestreamed broadcast on from the official Fortnite channel. In September 2020, Epic Games announced that in celebration of their acquisition of developer Psyonix and their game Rocket League, it would be holding a crossover event between that title and Fortnite, giving fans the opportunity to earn items in both games. While that event only lasted a few weeks, Epic has decided to hold another Llama-Rama event. Starting on March 25, 2021 and lasting until April 9, 2021, players will be able to earn rewards by completing specific challenges. Fornite x Rocket League Llama-Rama challenges Like last time, players will have to play Rocket League in order to complete each challenge but you’ll earn rewards for both games. As expected, each reward has something to do with the other, meaning rewards that are used in Rocket League will be Fortnite-themed, and vice versa. That being said, these challenges are a bit harder than they were last time. While the previous challenges were simple ones like “complete a match” or “win a match”, these are more complex and will require a bit more coordination, especially if you’re not a seasoned Rocket League player. List of March 2020 Llama-Rama challenges Challenge 1: Beyonder – Play 3 online matches. In addition to all of the aforementioned challenges, Fortnite players will also be able to get their hands on a special Lil’ Octane traversal emote, which allows players to hop onto one of the Rocket League cars and drive it around the map (albeit extremely slowly since it’s an emote). One of the distinct features of the Winterfest in-game event has been Fortnite Presents, which players can open each day to receive free items, such as gliders, pickaxes, music packs, and more. Epic had previously announced that, at some point, these presents would include two outfit skins – Lt. Evergreen and Whooly Mammoth. On December 24, with Christmas fast approaching, Lt. Evergreen was made available for free. The character closely resembling Jonesy dressed in military-style clothing. However, he’s not exactly the most formidable lieutenant, as there’s a large Christmas tree draped over his head and shoulders. “Just a tree here, move along,” reads the item’s official description. Lt. Evergreen also comes with the Re-Gifter back-bling, which is a green-and-yellow wrapped present. How to unlock Lt. Evergreen skin for free In order to unlock this new skin, you must enter the Fortnite Winterfest cabin and click on the Christmas tree located on the right side of the screen. Once the camera pans closer, you will have to click on the tree again after scrolling over it and seeing the message “Just a tree” pop up on the screen.
