How to get Billie Eilish skin in Fortnite: Green Roots, Ultra Violet & Red Roots Epic GamesAs Fortnite Festival’s Season 3 featured artist, Billie Eilish comes with various skin variants and cosmetics. Here’s how to get Green Roots, Red Roots and Ultra Violet Billie Eilish in the game. Fortnite unleashed Festival Season 3 into the game on April 23, with Billie Eilish the new headliner for this season. Several rumors circulated following the leaked Fortnite 2024 roadmap for whether or not Billie would be taking over the game mode. However, Epic Games and the Grammy-winning pop star were quick to confirmed this. Billie Eilish joins with her own skin and a whole heap of cosmetics, including her own alternative Ultraviolet Outfit style and the newly released Red Roots skin. So, here’s how you can get all Billie Eilish skins in Fortnite, including her Green Roots, Ultra Violet and Red Roots Billie skins in the game. How to get Green Roots Billie Eilish skin in Fortnite To get the Green Roots Billie skin in Fortnite, you need to purchase the Premium Reward Track for 1,800 V-Bucks from the Festival Pass for Season 3. You will then be able to complete quests and earn Festival Points to be able to earn exclusive Billie Eilish-themed Premium rewards. These include numerous cosmetics, such as Instruments, Jam Tracks, the Billie’s Crown Back Bling, and many others. Once you’ve loaded up Fortnite, select the Festival Pass tab in the menu and you will see a ‘Premium Reward Track’ section in the bottom right corner. Simply, just hit the ‘Upgrade’ button to purchase and unlock the bonus premium rewards in the Pass for 1,800 V-Bucks. Make sure to stack up on V-Bucks before you make the purchase. You can also get Billie Eilish cosmetics from the Item Shop in Fortnite, here’s all of them and their prices: How to get Ultra Violet Billie Eilish skin in Fortnite The Ultra Violet Billie Eilish skin is essentially the alternative style for the Green Roots skin. Another thing to keep in mind is that this skin is exclusive to the Festival pass. It won’t be available to purchase in the Item Shop like the Green Roots skin, which means that you have until the end of the Festival season to claim it before it’s gone. To level up your Festival Pass, you can complete the Festival quests or simply keep playing the game mode. How to get Red Roots Billie Eilish skin in Fortnite The Red Roots Billie Eilish skin is available in the Item Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks, and it comes with the Girl Wings Back Bling to complement her look. How to win Fortnite: 9 tips to get better and score a Victory Royale – Dexerto
How to win Fortnite: 9 tips to get better and score a Victory Royale Epic GamesOur essential Fortnite tips and techniques will help you dominate your next Battle Royale match and increase your chances of earning a Victory Royale. Fortnite gained popularity due to the simplicity of its Battle Royale format, making it accessible to a wide audience. However, to truly excel, mastering the game’s mechanics and strategies is vital for gaining a competitive edge. Whether you’re aiming to dominate the classic Battle Royale mode, excel in Zero Build, or rise through the ranks in Ranked, here are nine tips to help you win Fortnite and claim that coveted Victory Royale in your matches. 1. Find the best landing spots If you’re still finding your feet in Fortnite, we’d recommend leaving the Battle Bus later than everyone else and landing somewhere quiet. This will give you extra time to gather weapons, stock up on ammo, and farm materials, rather than flying headfirst into a battle that you might not win. Whenever you decide to leave the Battle Bus, you’ll want to at least land near a POI or landmark as they have more weapons and ammo than desolate areas. Choose one far away from the Battle Bus’ flight path and there will be fewer people there. Avoid popular locations like Mount Olympus or the Nitrodome. We’ve provided a complete list of all the best landing spots in Fortnite. 2. Learn how to build properly One of the most unique aspects of Fortnite that sets it apart from other Battle Royale games is building. It might seem intimidating or even a waste of time at first, but mastering the art of building could be the difference between losing and getting that all-important Victory Royale. You’ll need to farm materials early on in the match so you’ve got a handy stock built up for battles later on. You can do this by attacking almost any structure or item in the game with your pickaxe. There are three types of material: Wood, Stone, and Metal. Wood is weak but builds faster, while Metal is strong but builds slower. Stone is also an effective middle ground. Building ramps can get you to high places – which is useful if you’re caught between the storm and a mountain – while walls can defend you and your teammates from enemy fire. A basic tip is to build a cube around yourself, which is especially handy when healing or reviving teammates at a Reboot Van. A good time to practice building is while you’re waiting for a match to start, or early in a match when there are no enemies around. Alternatively, you could just play Zero Build mode which gets rid of the building aspect altogether if you can’t get to grips with this mechanism. 3. Keep a good range of weapons in your loadout As soon as you land on the Island, the first thing you should be doing is looking for weapons. You’ll need at least one to defend yourself, but why stop there? You should keep searching chests to find the most powerful weapons as you progress through the match to help you win Fortnite. A balanced loadout will ensure you can handle any situation. We’d recommend an Assault Rifle to handle medium-distance opponents, an SMG or Shotgun to damage enemies at close range, either a Sniper Rifle to take out faraway targets, or an Explosive weapon to blast down walls, vehicles, and enemies at varied ranges, and finally pair these with healing items that boost Shield and Health. We’ve have provided a full tier list of the best Fortnite weapons you can get during your matches. 4. Mod your weapons Once you’ve played a few matches and figured out the weapon (or weapons) you feel most comfortable using, it’s a good idea to get into the habit of modding them when you get the chance. This will make them more powerful and should help you take down opponents. You can do this by visiting one of the many Mod Benches scattered around the island. You’ll need Gold Bars to pay for upgrades – you can get them by completing Bounties, searching safes and tills, destroying cash registers, and eliminating opponents. 5. Listen out for enemy footsteps When you’re in the heat of a match, it’s easy to forget some of the simple things you can do to gain an advantage over your opponents. The sound design in Fortnite is great; an opponent’s footsteps can let you know when they’re nearby, and even reveal if they’re above or below you in a building. If you really want to take advantage of sounds in Fortnite, we’d recommend you play with a decent pair of headphones. This way you’ll be able to shut out distractions and hear the game in greater clarity, which could give you the edge you need to win at Fortnite. 6. Change sensitivity settings While Fortnite’s default settings are a solid starting point for most players, tweaking them to suit your unique playstyle can significantly enhance your performance. After all, no two players are the same. One of the biggest changes you can make is the sensitivity of your controller or mouse. This will help steady your movement when aiming and get those all-important headshots, which deal a lot more damage than regular body shots. You can also change your building preferences. To access the settings in Fortnite, click the gear icon in the top right corner while you’re in-game or waiting in the lobby. Here, you can adjust sensitivity levels, but don’t stop there—explore the other settings as well. A simple tweak could make a significant difference in your gameplay. 7. Hide until the final moments of a match Whether you agree with this method or not, there’s no denying that playing it safe and being sneaky is a great way to increase your chances of winning Fortnite. The best way to do this is to avoid busy POIs and stay as close to the storm as possible, only moving to the next circle at the last minute. Use your time in the shadows (or tall grass) to focus on building up the perfect loadout, maximizing your Health and Shield, and collecting material to build with. Once there are only a few players left, it’s time to go on the offensive – although you should still be cautious about your approach. A good tip is to get to the highest vantage point inside the circle so you can scout the area. If you can’t do this, look for a building, rocks, or trees for some extra defense. Then, wait for other players to engage in gunfights first so you can discover their locations and ambush them. 8. Take cover as much as possible If you want to succeed in Fortnite, mastering the art of taking cover is crucial. Whether you’re out in the open or navigating a POI, make the most of your surroundings to stay hidden. Crouching can help you avoid detection, but keep in mind that Fortnite doesn’t offer a prone option. Fortunately, Fortnite’s Battle Royale island is full of objects you can use for cover, such as buildings, walls, trees, rocks and even non-moving vehicles. This becomes even more critical when trying to win solo matches, where you don’t have teammates to watch your back. 9. Learn from your mistakes One of the most important things you can do in Fortnite is to embrace the learning curve. In your first few games, you’ll likely make plenty of mistakes—landing in high-traffic areas only to be eliminated quickly or accidentally building structures when you meant to shoot (trust us, we’ve been there). The best way to improve is by reviewing your replays, which you can find in the ‘Career’ section of the lobby. Here, you’ll see recordings of your recent matches, allowing you to analyze what went wrong and identify areas for improvement. Ultimately, mastering Fortnite comes down to practice, practice, and more practice. But with these tips, you’ll be well on your way to racking up those Victory Royales. You will also need to keep updated on any changes to Fortnite, which you can do by checking out our complete lists on every new, unvaulted, and vaulted weapon, as well as where to find all NPC characters and mythic weapons during your matches.

How to get Batman Zero skin in Fortnite Season 6 – Dexerto
How to get Batman Zero skin in Fortnite Season 6 Epic GamesWhile fans have known about the Armored Batman Zero Point outfit for a while now, another outfit for the Caped Crusader has leaked, simply called Batman Zero. Here’s everything we know about it, including when it’s coming and how it’ll be released. In early 2021, Epic Games announced that it was crossing-over with DC for a brand-new comic book called Batman/Fortnite, which would expand upon both worlds’ lore. Fans who bought each issue would receive special in-game items and those with all six would receive a special Armored Batman Zero Point outfit. Now, another Batman skin was leaked to the world and it seems to be separate from the Armored one. The best part is that this, titled simply as Batman Zero, will be available for everyone regardless of the comics that you buy. Fortnite Season 6 Batman Zero bundle leaks The Batman cosmetics just got decrypted! (Image via @Luwwani) pic.twitter.com/jQUNbj1All — Shiina (@ShiinaBR) April 29, 2021 On April 29, 2021, numerous Fortnite leakers and dataminers revealed that a special Batman Zero bundle was decrypted. While many initially assumed that this was the same as the Armored skin, it seems to be completely different. This version of Batman seems to be the one featured on the covers for the comic books and features a more rugged look, with his sleeves torn off and his cape ripped. The bundle also includes a loading screen and a special Grappling Axe pickaxe. From the leaked images, the cape backbling may double as a glider but this is unconfirmed at the time of writing. Batman Zero bundle Item Shop release date The Batman Zero outfit will be available in the Item Shop on May 5. — Shiina (@ShiinaBR) April 29, 2021 According to Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR, the bundle will be available within the Item Shop on May 5, 2021. This news took many fans by surprise, as most didn’t expect another Batman skin to hit the shop, let alone so close to the start of the comic book. Currently, it’s unknown just how much the bundle will cost players but considering others of similar value launch for over 2,000 V-Bucks, it wouldn’t be surprising if this Batman Zero bundle follows suit.

How to get the Ballistic Shield in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 There are two ways to get a Ballistic Shield in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1: By looting chests and Vaults – Ground loot – Looting chests and Vaults by dropping at some of the most popular POIs like Rebel’s Roost or Lavish Lair is the best way to get your hands on a Ballistic Shield. How to get Balloons in Fortnite – Dexerto
How to get Balloons in Fortnite Epic GamesFortnite celebrates another year of its release with new Chapter 4 Season 4’s Birthday quests. The sixth quest tasks players with having to use 6 Balloons, so here’s the best way to do just that. Fortnite players are set to honor the Battle Royale’s 6th birthday, as Epic Games brings back their annual in-game birthday event for another year on September 19. The developers are bringing a fresh wave of various new and returning items into the game for players to get excited about. These include Birthday Cakes, Birthday Presents, and more. Balloons are returning to the game after being included in the previous celebrations, which are certainly essential for any birthday, let alone Fortnite. Here is a full guide to show you the best way to find and use Balloons in Chapter 4 Season 4. How to get Balloons in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 A large part of the celebrations is the Birthday quests that will reward players with 20,000 XP after finishing each one. The sixth quest is titled “Use Balloons.” In order to complete the mission, players will have to find and use the Balloons during their matches. Balloons can be found from ground loot as well as in chests easily around the Battle Royale map, where they look just like a small packet of balloons. Moreover, you can activate the Jump Balloon Reality Augment to gain Balloons every time you jump, until you reach the max number of Balloons. How to use Balloons in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Although finding them should be relatively easy, using them effectively may prove trickier if you’ve not used them before as they give your character a unique lift. Firstly, choose your Balloon in your inventory and then hold your right trigger or left mouse click to attach and use your Balloon. You can also repeat this step to add up to three balloons at one time, with each balloon being added increasing your jump height and duration as you float in the air. However, worth noting is that Balloons aren’t invincible and will therefore pop if the player floats too high or if they are shot by another player. Alternatively, to simply detach your balloons and stop using them, you would just need to press and hold down your right stick on your controller, or press Ctrl key on your keyboard. The fastest way to use six balloons and complete the quest is by first collecting six of them, attaching three balloons to your character, detaching them all, and then attaching three more. That’s everything you need to know about how to get Birthday Balloons in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4! In the meantime, though, we’ve got plenty of tips and tricks available to help you out in the new season, so make sure to check out our guide content: How to level up fast in Fortnite | How to get V-Bucks in Fortnite | Rarest skins in Fortnite | What are the best Fortnite skins ever? | How many people play Fortnite? | How to win in Fortnite | How to refer a friend in Fortnite | All Fortnite crossovers & collabs | Best guns in Fortnite | Best Fortnite landing spots | Fortnite dances list | Where to find all Exotic & Mythic weapons in Fortnite | Are there any free V-Bucks codes in Fortnite? | How to play Fortnite split-screen | How to get free Fortnite skins

How to get Avengers Hulk Smashers Pickaxe in Fortnite for free – Dexerto
How to get Avengers Hulk Smashers Pickaxe in Fortnite for free [jwplayer ibznrzc6] In a bit of a surprising move, Epic Games and Square Enix announced that Fortnite will soon be getting a new pickaxe based on the Hulk’s hands from the upcoming ‘Avengers’ game, and we’ve got the lowdown on how to snag it. Crossovers are nothing new for Fortnite: Every few months (at the bare minimum), there’s always a new property that Fornite crosses over with in some way. Just this past season we got both an Aquaman skin and a Captain America skin, so it’s quite unsurprising when a new one comes along. While the game’s next crossover is continuing the Marvel partnership, it involves a new property that hasn’t been touched yet: The upcoming Square Enix-published ‘Avengers’ game. While Marvel showed off more of the title today, including its first post-launch DLC, Hawkeye, they also confirmed that an item based on its upcoming release will be added to one of the world’s most popular battle royales. What you need to know about the items Right now, the only item set to be available in Fortnite is the Hulk Smashers pickaxe. In what’s clearly reminiscent of the old foam Hulk gloves that were all the rage with kids, players will be able to use Hulk’s hands as a harvesting tool in order to break down materials. These items, obviously, give no actual advantage to the player, so there’s no worry about being outplayed by someone who has these hands. This leaves the question: how can you earn this item for free? Hulk Smash 💥 Unleash the power of the Incredible Hulk with the Hulk Smasher Pickaxe and bonus Hulkbuster style when you complete the HARM challenges in the @PlayAvengers Beta on Xbox One or PlayStation 4. Get all of the details here: https://t.co/jgZJFHIoeU pic.twitter.com/Lq3OySJvBl — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) July 29, 2020 Step 1: Get access to the Avengers beta. There are a couple of ways you can get this done. First and foremost, you can pre-order the game from anywhere offering the beta access (which, at this point, is all major stores). If you pre-order on PlayStation 4, you can get into the beta on August 7, 2020. Players who pre-order on Xbox One will be able to get into the beta on August 14, 2020, while all PlayStation 4 players, regardless of pre-order, will be able to get in on the same day. If you don’t feel like pre-ordering, the only date you have to remember is August 21, 2020. That’s the day that everyone, regardless of their console choice or pre-order status, gets into the beta. On that day, all you have to do is download it off the digital platform of choice. Step 2: Link your Epic Games and Square Enix accounts This part is a bit more complicated. We’ve included steps below so that you can understand it as easily as possible. Go to Square Enix’s official Fortnite landing page by clicking here. – Click the login/register button found on the page and sign in, or make a Square Enix account. After you’re done with this step, it will redirect you to the original Square Enix/Fortnite landing page. – Click on the button to “Link your account,” which will allow you to sign in with your Epic Games profile. – After this point, barring any issues, your two accounts should be linked together, which will allow you to earn the Hulk Smashers. Step 3: Complete all three HARM challenges featured in the beta. This is another relatively simple task. The beta itself includes a slew of different missions, challenges, and areas. There’s honestly a surprising amount of content jam-packed into the beta, itself. For this item, however, you only need to complete all three HARM challenges. The challenge is essentially the game’s version of wave-based combat. While there’s not a lot of information available about these, it seems like once players reach a certain wave, the room will be “completed,” and players will be able to move onto the next one. That’s it! Once you complete all three of these steps, you’ll have the Hulk Smashers in your Fortnite inventory available for use whenever you want. Of course, if you really don’t want to play the Avengers beta, you will be able to buy them in the Fortnite store at some point in the future. That being said, free is always better and, who knows, maybe you’ll end up wanting to pick up the full Avengers game in the future.

How to get Avatar Elemental Bending mythics in Fortnite Epic GamesLooking to get your hands on the brand new Avatar Mythic weapons in Fortnite? Here’s how you can easily acquire them in Chapter 5 Season 2. Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2’s first big crossover event is here and brings the elements of Avatar: The Last Airbender to the game. The crossover brings a brand new questline, event mini-pass, and four new skins of characters from the hit series. Furthermore, players can also get their hands on the elemental powers of each of those characters by collecting Elemental Bending Scrolls which are the new mythic weapons on the map. With the addition of these items, existing Greek mythics have been vaulted, so it’s important to know about the new ones. Here’s where you can find the Avatar Elemental Bending Scroll mythic items in Fortnite and their usage. Contents How to get Avatar Elemental Bending mythic scrolls – All Elemental Shrine locations – How to use Avatar mythics – How to get Avatar Elemental Bending mythic scrolls The easiest way to get your hands on an Avatar Mythic weapon in Fortnite is by claiming them via Elemental Shrines. There are four types of shrines you’ll be able to spot across the island, each of which is themed after an element. However, you can also claim these weapons from regular loot chests or as floor loot across the island. There are four Avatar mythic Bending Scrolls you can now get in Fortnite – Waterbending, Airbending, Earthbending, and Firebending. You’ll be able to distinguish the Mythic weapon you can get from the Elemental Shrine by recognizing the color and icon of the item on the shrine. For instance, a red fire icon will give you Firebending, blue will grant Waterbending, white for Airbending, and green for Earthbending. All Elemental Shrine locations on Fortnite map There are a total of eight Elemental Shrines spread across the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 map. Head inside one and open its Bending Scroll Container to wield that shrine’s associated bending technique. Here are all the locations where you can find Elemental Shrines: It’s not beyond the realm of possibility that players may also get Avatar Mythic weapons by opening chests. Because of each item’s Mythic status, however, the odds of getting this lucky seem rather low. How to use Avatar Elemental Bending mythics Each of the four Avatar Elemental mythics comes powered with the element they’re associated with. Similar to the Waterbending mythic, you can use items with elements of Air, Fire, and Earth by simply equipping the weapon in your inventory. Here are all the mythics and how they work in Fortnite: Waterbending: Give your opponents the cold shoulder by hurling sharp, icy projectiles! Also, with this technique in your inventory, your Health will steadily restore up to 100 while you’re in the water. – Earthbending: Summon chunks of earth to hurl at foes or use them to create defensive barriers/walls. – Firebending: Produce flames to launch arcs of fire towards foes, or slam down from above in a fiery explosion. – Airbending: Harness the air around you to enhance your mobility. Use “air wheel” to traverse great distances, or “air jump” to launch yourself and nearby players into the air. – However, these abilities will only stay in the game’s loot pool for a limited time until Avatar: Elements ends on May 3 at 2 AM ET in Fortnite. How to get and use Underworld Dash in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 – Dexerto
How to get and use Underworld Dash in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Epic GamesFortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 introduces an all-new mechanic, Underworld Dash, allowing for quick escapes when in a bind. Here’s how to get and use it in the game. Fortnite’s latest chapter goes all in on the Greek mythology theme, with new locales and AI inspired by the myths and legends of old. One of the newest features introduced is Underworld Dash, a movement mechanic that can help get you out of a pickle in an instant. However, there are a few catches with the ability. If you want to get your hands on the new Medallion, here’s everything you need to know about it in Chapter 5 Season 2. How to get Underworld Dash in Fortnite Getting Underworld Dash is very simple. Head to any of the Underworld Locations that have green water, such as Grim Gate, and it’ll charge your charge with the ability to use Underworld Dash. You’ll know you’ll have it as your character will have three floating skulls surrounding them. However, it’s important to note this is a temporary boon. Each use will take away one skull, and once all three are gone, you’ll need to submerge yourself back in the water to regain the effect. Alternatively, if you’re feeling brave, you can challenge Cerberus in Grim Gate. Provided you are successful, the NPC will drop the Aspect of Agility Medallion, unlocking Underworld Dash for permanent use. How to use Underworld Dash Underworld Dash is a new movement mechanic bound to your jump button. Simply press the jump button twice (for example, the X button on PS5 twice), and your character will dash forward. As mentioned, it’s only temporary. Each use will take away one skull, or if you don’t use it, it lasts about two minutes. Bear in mind if opt to takedown Cerberus and pick up the Medallion, you’re marked for the entire lobby to find you. With the Medallion, this ability will charge with your stamina, meaning it can’t be spammed infinitely. How to get and use Buried Treasure Map in Fortnite Season OG – Dexerto
How to get and use Buried Treasure Map in Fortnite Season OG Epic GamesFortnite Season OG has reached its third stage as of November 16. With it comes the addition of Buried Treasure Maps. Here is our guide on how to obtain and use these maps. Buried Treasure Maps were first introduced during Season 8 and appeared again in Season 9 under the title ‘Avengers Buried Treasure.’ This Legendary item was added alongside the Snowy / Pirate update that added Frozen Flights and Buried Treasure. These maps are replacing the Port-a-Fortress as a new Legendary item. However, it is unclear how rare these maps will become. Fortnite has been criticized for its spawn rate of other Legendary items like the Chug Jug in the past. Contents Where to find Buried Treasure Maps There are no specific locations for Treasure Maps. They can be found across the map regardless of region and do not require special instructions. These are all the ways that Treasure Maps can be found. Floor Loot – Treasure Maps can be found on the floor of any significant location. – Chests – There is a chance for Treasure Maps to appear after opening a chest. – Supply Drops – Supply Drops can drop Treasure Maps and are the most likely to drop Legendary items. – How to use Buried Treasure Maps Discovering a buried treasure map triggers a golden-hued beam on the island, similar to a squad member’s map marker. When the player holds the map and presses the attack button, a dotted line materializes, indicating the direction of the hidden treasure. As the player approaches the designated area, a conspicuous large black ‘X’ painted on the ground signals the spot where the treasure lies buried. To unearth the treasure, the player must use their harvesting tool. What does Buried Treasure drop? When the Buried Treasure is unearthed by digging the ‘X,’ a chest will appear in its place. It’s important to note that Buried Treasure Chests can only be found using a map. The chest will drop up to four Epic or Legendary rarity weapons; however, the Buried Treasure may vary between games. By dropping multiple rare weapons, the Buried Treasure chests are more valuable than Supply Drops, which only drop one rare weapon at a time. Now you know how to find and use the Buried Treasure Map in Fortnite OG. How to get and use a Star Wars lightsaber in Fortnite – Dexerto
How to get and use a Star Wars lightsaber in Fortnite The iconic weapons from Star Wars are now available in Fortnite following the special in-game Rise of the Skywalker event on December 14. Here’s how to grab one of the multi-colored melee weapons during a match. Finally, you can become the Jedi or Sith warrior you’ve dreamed of being. Lightsabers were rumored and anticipated to be added to Fortnite for some time now, ever since the collaboration between the battle royale and the Star Wars franchise was officially announced. A day after Rey, Finn, and Sith stormtrooper were officially announced as skin additions at The Game Awards, the iconic lightsaber has joined them. How do I get a lightsaber? Well, you can’t craft them unfortunately, given that it is a tradition for a young Padawan to craft their own lightsaber. But you can find one. They are located in specialty blue chests, that spawn anywhere a normal chest would, but they are rare. Instead of the usual chest sound, they give off the familiar hum of a lightsaber. Opening one of these rare chests will spill out a collection of lightsabers for you to pick from. You can take all of them and sport a collection that will make General Grievous envious, or be conservative and rational like a wise Jedi Master and take just one. How do the lightsabers work? It’s a melee weapon with a blocking mechanic. The lightsaber swings can be timed into combo, which results in a final, leaping spin strike that does extra damage. Disappointingly, it appears you cannot throw them, yet. The blocking mechanic is simple, hold down and deflect bullets and blaster bolts like a true master of the blade. Unfortunately, for fans of Jedi Fallen Order, it doesn’t appear that you can deflect the bullets or blaster bolts back at your opponents. Upon a couple tries with it, it doesn’t appear like blocking has a limit. During a game, a player unloaded with a blaster rifle for nearly 10 seconds and all the bolts were deflected away. You can run and block as well, allowing you to close the distance to an opponent using a ranged weapon. You may not be able to fully block shotgun blasts. What colors/sabers are there? Mace Windu’s purple lightsaber, Kylo Ren’s red crossguard lightsaber, Rey’s blue lightsaber, and Luke Skywalker’s green lightsaber are all available. Currently, there are no lightsabers available as cosmetics to replace the pickaxe, but several high-profile Fortnite leakers seem to believe that one could be on the way. No word yet either if double-bladed lightsabers, a la Darth Maul’s, will be added in the near future. But what else should Star Wars contribute to Fortnite?

How to get an unlimited inventory in Fortnite – Dexerto
How to get an unlimited inventory in Fortnite Epic GamesA clever Fortnite trick has been found which lets you carry as many items or weapons as you want. Here’s what you’ll need to do to get this unlimited inventory. Fortnite offers plenty of weapons and unique items to help you deal with whatever you come up against but with limited slots in your inventory, it can be hard to find a perfect loadout that works in every situation. However, a new exploit has been found which seemingly lets you stack as many items and guns as you want. As many players know, looting in Fortnite leaves you choosing between the gear you think you’ll need and it can often result in good guns being left idle for your enemies to grab. Fortnite YouTuber Glitch King was among the first to share this “unlimited inventory” bug and revealed that, once players do this trick, they would no longer have to choose between guns. This exploit can only be done with a vehicle and a gas can, however, meaning that you’ll have to find them before giving it a try. Here’s everything you’ll need to do. How to get an unlimited inventory in Fortnite First, you’ll need to find a Choppa/boat and a gas can in Fortnite. – Once you grab them, bring the vehicle next to the loot and enter it. – You’ll then want to change seats and, with the Gas Can in hand, pick up any items you want. – Shuffle between the gas can and your pickaxe to duplicate the items. – After that, your extra items should all be stored under the Gas Can slot. – To retrieve any items, simply drop the Gas Can to reveal the stacked gear. – The extra loot won’t be visible in your inventory but you can simply find it all by dropping those items. As with all glitches, it is likely that Epic will be looking to patch this exploit in a future update, but as of writing, it is still active.

How to get a Double Elimination in Fortnite – Dexerto
How to get a Double Elimination in Fortnite Epic GamesHere’s how you can get a Double Elimination in Fortnite and complete the Pirates of the Caribbean Pirate Code Four quest during Chapter 5 Season 3. Fortnite has tasked players to “Earn a Double Elimination” as part of the Pirate Code Four quests. The pirate-themed quests can be completed to earn XP and progress through the Cursed Sails event pass to earn exclusive Pirates of the Caribbean rewards. However, many have needed help to get a Double Elimination and sought the best way to do so. Here’s everything you need to know. How to get a Double Elimination in Fortnite To get a Double Elimination in Fortnite, you must eliminate two enemies within a short duration of around five seconds. You can earn this by fully eliminating two downed enemy players or by knocking two players down and having your teammates finish them off in quick succession. The best way to achieve this is to head into team-based versions of Duos, Trios, or Squads for the main Battle Royale, Zero Build, or Reload modes to maximize your chances. By knocking down an enemy player without fully eliminating them, you can then focus on downing another member of their team and killing them within five seconds to earn a Double Elimination. However, if you are still fighting opponents from the same team, you can also just knock down all remaining members, which will squad wipe them and grant you a Double Elimination. Once you have squaded up with your friends, the easiest way to ensure you will have a strong chance of earning a Double Elimination is to land straight into the most popular POI locations on the island map. These include the Nitrodome, Redline Rig, and Reckless Railways, which will all be jam-packed with players during Chapter 5 Season 3. Getting a Double Elimination is possible in Solo BR matches, but you would need to head to the most popular POI locations filled with players to boost your chances of getting two kills in quick succession. After you have earned yourself a Double Elimination, a notification will appear at the top of your screen confirming completion of the Pirates of the Caribbean Code Four quest. You will then receive 5,000 XP as your reward and further your quest progress to help you earn more Cursed Gold and Map Pieces for the Cursed Sails event pass. There are several quests you can complete in Fortnite during the Cursed Sails event to earn yourself Pirates of the Caribbean rewards. One of the most desired is Jack’s Ship Glider, which you can claim for free. Fortnite’s Pirates of the Caribbean collab has unleashed skins and cosmetics for Jack Sparrow, as well as Davy Jones, Elizabeth Swann and Captain Barbossa. The OG Flint-Knock Pistol, Treasure Maps, Pirate Cannons, and even the Ship in a Bottle mythic have also been added.

How to get a Glider in LEGO Fortnite Epic GamesThe glider is a crucial item in LEGO Fortnite, greatly facilitating your survival adventure. Here’s a guide on obtaining it. Contents Where to find chickens in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 Chickens spawn at random across the map, but these are the locations we’ve managed to find them so far in Fortnite Chapter 3: Southwest of Greasy Grove. – Near the gas station west of Logjam Lumberyard. – At the center of the map, where Tilted Towers is currently covered by snow. – Over the river north of Rocky Reels. – Near the gas station south of Rocky Reels. – West of the Daily Bugle. – Chickens are one of the easiest animals to find in the wild in Fortnite Chapter 3, as there are plenty of them located around the Island. Still, it helps to know where to look so you don’t waste time running around like a headless chicken. The map above highlights some of the most common spawn locations of chicken on the Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 1 map. How to fly with a chicken in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 When you spot a chicken in the wild in Fortnite, your first job is to grab hold of it. They’ll run away and change directions to try and throw you off. If you’re fast enough, however, you’ll be able to interact with it. With a chicken now held overhead, you’ll notice a unique effect: Jumps are now much higher and longer as the chicken helps launch you off the ground. Using this trick lets you cover more distance than usual. Read More: What’s inside each Winterfest 2021 present? – To complete the Avian Ambush challenges, you’ll need to fly 20 meters in one single flight. To do this, we’d recommend finding a tall cliff edge or building a ramp high up, then launching yourself off the edge. Fun fact: Chickens can also be used to open Vaults hidden around the map! Vaults usually require at least two people to access, but a chicken can be held to take the place of another person if you’re playing solo. Expect to see chickens become a hot commodity as Fortnite Chapter 3 rumbles on and more challenges require you to find them to earn XP.

How to enter and fly UFOs in Fortnite Season 7 – Dexerto
How to enter and fly UFOs in Fortnite Season 7 Epic GamesFortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 is finally here, and one of the biggest new updates is the ability to fly UFOs around the map! Here’s where you can find them and how you can use them. After weeks of teasing, the highly-anticipated Season 7 of Fortnite has arrived. As many fans expected, the theme of the new update is all about aliens, so there are plenty of new extraterrestrial themed weapons, exciting skins, and map updates to discover. As well as a giant Mother Ship that appears above the Island, players will also be able to find and drive their own smaller UFOs, which can not only heal your friends, but also deal plenty of damage to enemies. They’re also just a lot of fun! UFOs are without a doubt one of the most exciting additions in Fortnite Season 7, so we’ve put together a handy guide so you can get your own alien spacecraft and start zooming around the Island during matches. Where to find UFOs in Fortnite Season 7 If you want to fly a UFO, you’ll first need to find one. To do this, look at the Fortnite map when you start a new match in Battle Royale mode. You’ll notice that a few random location names are glitching and glowing purple. Head to any one of these locations and you should see three UFOs flying around in the sky; these are your targets. Remember, the further away from the Battle Bus you land, the less competition you’ll have from other players. How to take over and fly a UFO in Fortnite In order to take over a UFO in Fortnite Season 7, you’re going to need to get it down from the sky, so head into this battle armed with plenty of long-distance firepower in your loadout. Here’s how to take over and fly a UFO in Fortnite: First of all, choose one UFO as your target and ignore the rest. – Shoot the UFO down with a medium-distance or long-distance weapon like a Rifle. – Once you’ve dealt enough damage, it will slowly descend to the ground. – Approach the UFO and press the Command button to enter it. – Be aware that the Trespasser who was flying the UFO will try to eliminate you. – Other players can take over the UFO you’ve shot down, so make sure you get to it fast! Fortnite UFO controls Now that you’ve got a UFO, you’ll need to know how to control it! As with most vehicles, you’ll have a limited amount of fuel (known as Battery) and your UFO will crash land if it takes too much damage. Below you’ll find the controls for PS4 and PS5 controllers, but they’ll be similar for other consoles: While ascending, descending, and boosting are pretty self-explanatory, the real fun comes with abducting, which allows you to lift up items, vehicles, or even opponents and send them flying across the Island. You’ve also got access to a Laser Beam that can take out other UFOs or damage enemies on the ground. Both the Laser Beam and Abduct features have a cool-down period, so make sure your aim is on point. That’s everything you need to know about UFOs in Fortnite Season 7. It’s likely that Epic will make changes to them as the season progresses – or we may get new space-themed vehicles – so we’ll keep you updated. In the meantime, visit our dedicated Fortnite page for the latest news, leaks, and guides for Season 7!

How to flip a vehicle in Fortnite – Dexerto
How to flip a vehicle in Fortnite Epic GamesQuests in Fortnite require players to carry out specific in-game objectives, some of which may seem out of place in a Battle Royale match. The most recent addition to Purradise Quests is a quest that challenges you to flip a vehicle. Here’s the rundown on how to pull that off in Fortnite. Fortnite players are now halfway through Chapter 4 Season 3. Now that the Summer Escape event has just begun, it brings a plethora of new tasks and free rewards. Battle Pass owners can also unlock the much-anticipated summer-themed Purradise Meowscles skin at this time. However, in order to obtain the skin and additional rewards, players must first complete the Purradise Quests. One such quest requires you to flip a vehicle, something that you wouldn’t ordinarily do in the game. So, here’s a handy guide on how to flip a vehicle in Fortnite. Fortnite: How to flip a vehicle? In Fortnite, flipping a vehicle takes a few seconds, and doing so will fulfill a Purradise Quest on Page 2. Once it’s completed, you’ll get the Purradise Pattern weapon wrap. However, if you land at the Mega City POI, your first order of business will be to find an overturned vehicle, which may be a Rogue Bike or a Nitro Drifter. In case you can’t find any, you may choose to ride a car off a cliff or some other high area, where it will flip over and throw you out when it crashes. Once you’ve done that, you may flip the vehicle by approaching it and pressing the Use button. In the image above, the Square button on the PlayStation corresponds to the E key on a keyboard, effectively binding the buttons to the Use function in Fortnite. Pushing the button will immediately bring the car back up so you can ride it again. Upon a successful vehicle flip, your quest will be complete and the free reward associated with it will be granted. So there you have it – that’s all you need to know about flipping a vehicle in Fortnite. How to fix Fortnite’s Shield Potion shortage – Dexerto
How to fix Fortnite’s Shield Potion shortage FortniteWhile most Fortnite fans are excited to see new items added to the game, it seems they have started to create an issue, as players are struggling to find any Shield Potions. The issue has become a major talking point among unhappy Fortnite fans, who claim that finding a Shield Potion in the game is almost impossible in its current state. This is a big issue, as players who are unable to get their hands on a shield potion find themselves with almost half the health that they would normally have, making it easier to be eliminated by an enemy. Fortnite fans believe they are struggling to find potions because Epic Games have added lots of new items to the game, but haven’t adjusted the drop rates for items to accommodate for the larger number. This problem has become especially noticeable after the introduction of Glider Redeploy as an item, with players on Reddit complaining that they can find lots of these, but none of the protective potions they’re actually looking for. While most believe Epic just need to adjust the loot drop rates for items, some think that the issue should be addressed by making chests and supply drops hold an extra item, meaning there would be a greater chance of finding one of the blue items. Another way that the problem could be fixed would be by introducing some of the rules from the game’s Pop-Up Cups, by awarding players with 50 health or shield points when they manage to eliminate an opponent. Epic Games have yet to comment on complaints from players about shields, but fans of the game will be hoping that the developer addresses the issue in the near future.

How to fix the problems with Fortnite’s editing system – Dexerto
How to fix the problems with Fortnite’s editing system One of the things that sets Fortnite apart from other battle royale titles is the building aspect of the game, and the ability to edit the structures you have created. However, one major issue with editing still exists, especially if you play on high ping. As explained by Luminosity member Sypher ‘SypherPK’ Ali back in October, players who play on high ping due to being far away from the game’s servers often have difficulties editing, especially when trying to do it quickly. Due to the higher ping, the game is unable to register the speed of your edit quickly enough, meaning players often end up firing a bullet from their weapon before they are able to make an edit, possibly giving away their position and damaging the structure. Other times, players will press the button too quickly, and the edit screen will only flash for a second before disappearing again, wasting valuable time when attempting to make an edit. Sypher believes there is a simple fix for this, that would be especially useful to those who struggle while playing with high ping. The Luminosity member believes that switching away from the toggle-based system is the key, instead forcing players to hold down the edit key while they are performing the edit, with the release of the button confirming the edit. Pls @FortniteGame make editing great again :skin-tone-2: pic.twitter.com/6XaMjIjIyR — LG SypherPK (@SypherPK) October 30, 2018 “It would be so much better,” states Sypher in the video. “It would create way less situations where your edit gets fumbled due to lag or a delay.” While many Fortnite fans think this would be a great idea, Epic Games have yet to comment on the suggestion and there are no official plans to implement it into the game.

How to fix Fortnite’s overpowered Hand Cannon – Dexerto
How to fix Fortnite’s overpowered Hand Cannon KOTAKUIt may come as a surprise, but many Fortnite fans agree that the most powerful weapon in the popular battle royale today isn’t an assault rifle or a sniper rifle, but rather a pistol – specifically the Hand Cannon, affectionately referred to as the Deagle. The popular weapon has become a mainstay amongst players of Fortnite due to its good accuracy and its high damage, as the weapon can deal 100 damage points to an opponent with a single shot. As time has gone on and more players have begun to use the weapon, fans have become increasingly frustrated by the power of the weapon, with even pro players like Team Liquid’s Ryan ‘Chap’ Chaplo and TSM’s Anthony ‘ZexRow’ Colandro calling on Epic Games to remove the item. Some fans believe that removing the Hand Cannon would be a mistake, and think that the weapon just needs to be adjusted to make it more balanced compared to other guns. One suggestion is to lower the accuracy of the Hand Cannon at long range, meaning that the weapon could only be utilized in close quarters combat instead of being used to pick off opponents from great distances. This would also create more need for the Scoped Revolver, which was added to the game on January 15. Another way the weapon could be balanced is to lower the damage it does to enemy players, but allow it to continue dealing 100 damage to structures. This would mean that the Hand Cannon could be used more as a way of breaking into enemy bases, but would still be useful when faced with opponents. If Epic Games do decide to nerf the Hand Cannon, it will likely be met with criticism from portions of the fanbase who have become adept at using it to their advantage. However, the majority of the competitive community, alongside a large chunk of casual players, would feel a lot safer in-game if they knew that they couldn’t be eliminated by a single Hand Cannon shot.

How to Fix Fortnite’s Blue Screen of Death Error – Dexerto
How to Fix Fortnite’s Blue Screen of Death Error Epic Games has addressed the common ‘Blue Screen error’ experienced by players when trying to launch Fortnite, and has provided a step-by-step solution to the problem. Dubbed the ‘blue screen of death’, is a common issue experienced across games played on PC, typically upon launch although some have also reported it occurring at random times during play. The errors has been increasingly frequent for Fortnite players following the v5.0 update at the release of season 5. It would force players to continually restart, sometimes numerous times in order to launch the game. Epic, who are ever observant on social media channels, quickly picked up on the number of players experiencing the error and provided a solution to which seems to be caused by a corrupt file. Posting on Reddit, an Epic Games employee explains that deleting this .bat file should solve the issue, and requires only a few simple steps. Hey everyone, We’ve been receiving reports that players are still encountering a Blue Screen error when launching Fortnite. Here are instructions on how to fix the BSOD issue: Navigate to C:Program FilesEpic GamesFortniteFortniteGameBinariesWin64BattlEye – Click the Uninstall_BattlEye.bat file (Windows Batch File) – Click the Install_BattlEye.bat file (Windows Batch File) – Keep in mind that the C: drive location may vary depending where you have Fortnite installed. Thank you for your patience. For now it seems that Epic are unable to provide a fix directly themselves, so this will require some technical work from the user. Thankfully it should be a straightforward process. As Epic points out however, the location of the C:/ drive may vary, depending on where on your drive you have the Fortnite launcher installed. How to fix Fortnite’s overpowered Boom Box – Dexerto
How to fix Fortnite’s overpowered Boom Box Not every addition to Fortnite Battle Royale is a fan favorite, and the introduction of the new Boom Box item might be the most unpopular yet. Fans and pro players alike were frustrated when the item was added to the game on Sunday, December 29, just hours before the $100,000 WSOE Fortnite esports event. The item can be thrown by players towards structures and enemy builds, with pulses of sound that emanate from the Boom Box destroying anything in its path, something which Team SoloMid pro player Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani described as a “troll.” While players are unhappy, Reddit user umotex12 has come up with a way to make the Boom Box less powerful, which he thinks would make it a much more interesting item to use compared to its current state. Firstly, the Boom Box would do a lot less damage to structures built by players, with umotex12 suggesting as much as a 70% decrease in damage. The item would continue to destroy non-player buildings while remaining extremely loud and would reward players with building resources, but would have a reduced amount of health to make it easier to destroy. By making these changes, the Boom Box would become an item primarily used for harvesting materials, meaning players could quickly gain lots of building supplies, at the cost of alerting everyone to your location due to the noise. This change would also reduce the Boom Box’s effectiveness in the late game portion of a match, as it wouldn’t do enough damage to player-built structures to be worthwhile using. While some think this may be a good idea, others are staunchly against it, commenting that they would make it far too easy to farm materials, and that the Boom Box should just be vaulted. The Boom Box has proved to be wildly unpopular, however Epic Games have yet to make any comment on the future of the item, and whether they will make any changes to it in an attempt to appease players.

How to fix Fortnite Winterfest’s annoying empty stockings bug – Dexerto
How to fix Fortnite Winterfest’s annoying empty stockings bug A new Fortnite bug has seen players unable to open their holiday stockings to unlock new challenges – but it has a really simple fix. Epic Games have added a new area to the Fortnite home screen, with players able to head to the Winterfest Lodge to acquire new goodies over the holiday season. In the lodge, players can open a variety of present boxes and stockings each day to earn the likes of skins, gliders and more that aren’t available in the Fortnite Item Shop. However, a new bug is seeing players opening empty stockings. A new stocking or present is available every day at 2PM UTC (7AM EST) in the Winterfest Cabin, which is reached simply by clicking on the snowflake tab at the top bar of the Fortnite Battle Royale page. Once you’ve searched the holiday stockings each day, you will be able to see what the challenge is that needs to be completed for that day. On Day 15, though, with just one more day left of Winterfest, a number of players are reporting that there’s nothing in the stocking, meaning it is unavailable to search. However, there’s an easy fix: as tweeted by Fortnite Status, the game’s official Service Status update account, players experiencing the bug should restart the game or play a match, after which the challenge should become available. If the stocking in the Winterfest Lodge is empty for you, restart the game or play a match, then visit the Lodge again to claim the new Challenge. — Fortnite Status (@FortniteStatus) January 1, 2020 This bug is a much easier one to fix than ones you’ll see almost every day in top games, which could sometimes take weeks to fix. With this one, all you need is to actually play or close the game and the problem is solved. After this tweet, many players seemed to be happy with how quick the fix was and grateful for the communication from the game’s developers. The Day 15 challenge for Winterfest is to set off fireworks placed around the map – and we’ve written up this handy guide to help you find every ‘frozen firework’ location in the game. Happy Holidays!

How to fix Fortnite Chapter 3 graphic render bug: MK7, burn-in display – Dexerto
How to fix Fortnite Chapter 3 graphic render bug: MK7, burn-in display Epic GamesA Fortnite Chapter 3 graphic render bug is causing burn-in displays after running into the MK7 rifle. Here’s everything we know about the problem, including how to fix the issue. Multiple players are reporting the same graphic bug, inside and out of the Fortnite battle royale, that makes it look like the game is failing. At first, it was believed these were isolated incidents with faulty graphics cards. But, after more people showed clips of the same issue happening during a game, Fortnite players have been asking Epic Games for a fix. Until there’s a permanent solution to the problem, some people have found varying degrees of success with a workaround for the glitch. How to fix Fortnite graphics bug Fortnite players experiencing ‘burn-in’ issues can try a couple of methods that have gone a long way to remedy some cases. Your mileage may vary, but the battle royale’s community have found a couple of ways to get the issue under control. Method 1: Simply alt-tab out of Fortnite – Alt-tab back into the game to clear up the issue – Method 2: After spotting Fortnite graphic glitch, bring up the map – Take off the map and it should clear up affected areas – Some cases of the glitch are more severe than others, but hopefully some Fortnite players can clear up the issue with one of the above solutions. Fortnite graphics bug explained It’s unclear what exactly causes the Fortnite render bug but people have nailed down some of the biggest triggers they’ve come across. Using the new MK7 rifle, with or without scoping in, can sometimes cause surrounding areas to improperly load. Meanwhile, the build menu and player names have been shown to create a similar graphic glitch throughout different matches. Even though the problem looks very similar to how the game would look like if a graphics card was dying, people are convinced it’s a Fortnite issue that’s recreating the error with different players.

How to ‘fish’ for weapons and items on land in Fortnite – Dexerto
How to ‘fish’ for weapons and items on land in Fortnite Previously only utilized when scrounging for loot in the ocean, the fishing rod in Fortnite now has more utility than ever before. Fortnite Chapter 2 introduced a wide array of new content and fresh changes to the world of the Epic Games Battle Royale title. Among the new additions was the Fishing Rod, which allowed players to cast out a line and find loot in the sea. Now, however, the unique item serves a greater purpose. In an October 31 post, Reddit user ‘Snekiecr8’ demonstrated how the fishing rod can now be used to ‘fish’ for weapons and items on land. Previously only able to catch fish, ammo, weapons, and items from bodies of water, the item with unlimited use can now hook any loot in the world, regardless of whether it appears on land or sea. Fishing rods can often be found in barrels close to water. The clip highlighted the newly adjusted item in action, yoinking a health kit and multiple weapons in quick succession. Bringing the loot directly to their feet, the player is easily able to grab everything and carry on with business as usual. It’s a quick and effective method of drawing in loot from afar, and possibly poaching something from a downed enemy or two from across the map. This might seem like a minor tweak at first but the functionality of the fishing rod could actually lead to some incredible plays down the line. For example, with rare loot left on the ground as bait, one player can simply fish the powerful gear away from the enemy while a teammate shoots them down for a surprising and hilarious elimination. Recently a brand new Harpoon Gun was leaked that could be added in a nearby update. This upcoming weapon is capable of pulling enemies closer towards you, a similar function to how the fishing rod now pulls loot in close proximity. Regardless of whether these two items lead to some hilarious highlights in the future, or if they both fall flat in the world of Fortnite, the fresh gameplay changes are definitely welcome.

How to fix FPS drops in Fortnite Chapter 2 on PC, PS4, Xbox One – Dexerto
How to fix FPS drops in Fortnite Chapter 2 on PC, PS4, Xbox One Fortnite players have been reporting multiple problems with their FPS and overall game performance with Chapter 2. So, here a few workarounds until Epic Games launch a patch. Fortnite Chapter 2 has, undoubtedly, been a success for Epic Games since it launched on October 15. The end of Season 10 was followed a near two-day shut down of the game that left some wondering if it was actually ever coming back. The battle royale did return with a fresh lick of paint, a brand new map, and a changed loot pool that is still being figured out as the developers haven’t released any patch notes. Yet, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Players have been reporting a litany of issues when it comes to the performance of the game, including FPS drops, general stuttering, and other graphical problems. Fortnite Chapter 2 has been a hit, but it also has problems. How to fix Fortnite FPS issues on PC One of the main fixes that players can use is by simply capping their FPS at below 200 and not having it set to ‘unlimited’. Of course, there are other ways to add to that method so that you can ensure smoother sailing. On the same settings page, it’s worth making sure that V-Sync and Motion Blur are turned off, while also having the Shadows set to ‘low’ instead of medium or epic capabilities. In addition to that, some players have found that having the textures setting turned to epic has cut down on the stutters, but big movements when moving the camera around will cause some issues, so this is more of a case by case basis. PC Fortnite players will want to cap their FPS instead of being unlimited. How to fix Fortnite FPS issues on PS4 and Xbox For console players, there are not as many solutions as PC considering the difference in settings options and hardware itself. One workaround that has been around for some time is switching the replays settings off in the video menu, but that’s only a tiny help. The developers have noted that they are working on the issues but have not confirmed when a proper fix will be in place. They have, however, been able to dispell the changing sound quality fix, so that’s worth ignoring. Of course, the workarounds will vary based on the hardware you’re running the game on until a patch, so it’s worth tweaking as you go to find what ways work for you.

How to find Tony Stark’s secret laboratory for Fortnite Week 7 challenge – Dexerto
How to find Tony Stark’s secret laboratory for Fortnite Week 7 challenge Epic GamesThe grind never stops for Fortnite players, with Week 7 of Season 4 officially here bringing new challenges and tasks for fans to sink their teeth into. This week, one of the most difficult asks you to discover Tony Stark’s secret Lake House laboratory. Here’s everything you need to complete this challenge. [jwplayer so0eN9Pk] The Marvel theme continues in Season 4, as Earth’s mightiest heroes prepare for the inevitable attack from the evil Galactus. The supervillain is on his way to the Fortnite island, intent on altering the reality of the game forever, but our heroes are already preparing for the upcoming showdown. These heroes have been taking over locations on the island for weeks, and while many are marked on the map to make them easy to find, some are hidden. One of these hidden areas is Tony Stark’s secret Lake House laboratory, which players need to find for this Season 4, Week 7 challenge. Where to find Stark’s secret Lake House lab Seeing as it’s Stark’s secret laboratory, it shouldn’t come as any surprise that it isn’t marked on the map to make this challenge easier. What makes it harder is that there are a number of lakes on the island, so finding it accidentally suddenly becomes even more difficult. The good news is that we’ve done all the detective work for you, and can confirm that the lab is located in the north-east corner of the map, close to Steamy Stacks, and on the other side of the lake from Stark Industries. Once you head around the lake, you need to find the Lake House, which sits just on the edge of the water, with some massive bushes around it. Don’t head inside thinking you’ll find the lab in there though, as what you’re looking for is actually outside instead. Head to those large bushes that sit outside, and use your pickaxe to break them, which should uncover a special door that will take you into Iron Man’s secret workshop. Once you make it inside, you’ll find that there isn’t too much to look at, although there are some weapons, consumables, and ammo sitting as floor loot that you can pick up and take with you as you hunt for Victory Royales. Step-by-step guide to finding Tony Stark’s secret Lake House laboratory Head to the Stark Industries, and walk around the adjoining lake towards Steamy Stacks. – Walk over to the lake house on the shore, and destroy the bushes beside it. – Enter through the secret entrance to Tony Stark’s secret laboratory to complete the challenge. – Once you’re inside the lab, you should receive a notification in the top left of your screen confirming that you’ve completed the challenge, which means you can head back out and into the action. It’s definitely worth taking on this task if you’re hoping to complete your Season 4 Battle Pass, as like the other Week 7 challenges, this offers a massive 25,000 XP boost to help you unlock new skins and cosmetic items.

How to find Week 9 hidden Battle Star in Fortnite Season 10 Epic GamesFortnite Season 10 is drawing to a close, but as always, there’s a brand-new hidden Battle Star on the island which players can unlock by completing the Week 9 challenges. Week 9 kicked off with the v10.40 Update, which introduced a new point-of-interest called Starry Suburbs, alongside major changes to controller aiming, and The Combine where players can practice with the new settings. As always, a fresh set of Missions go live on Thursday, September 26, which means players will be able to unlock a loading screen, and a hidden Battle Star too. To grab the Battle Star, players will first need to complete three of this week’s challenges, with the loading screen seen above awarded to players for taking on the tasks. This week’s loading screen shows players sitting in front of The Combine, but eagle-eyed players will be able to spot the sneaky hint that Epic Games have hidden above the door, with an image of a Tomatohead wearing a crown. That’s where players will need to go this week, as the Battle Star is found on top of the giant Tomatohead statue, which sits directly west of Pressure Plant. The head sits above a temple, so they’re going to either need to land on top of it when jumping out of the Battle Bus or build their way up should they choose to visit it later during a match. For those still struggling to find it, or unsure of where the temple sits on the island, you can use our map to pinpoint the exact location of the Battle Star. Remember, you must have completed three of the Season 10, Week 9 challenges to unlock the hidden Battle Star, so don’t head towards the volcano expecting it to appear unless you’ve finished the required tasks.

How to Find the Secret Fortnite Battle Star for the Week 1, Season 5 ‘Road Trip’ Challenge – Dexerto
How to Find the Secret Fortnite Battle Star for the Week 1, Season 5 ‘Road Trip’ Challenge Season 5 of Fortnite: Battle Royale will feature another multi-week challenge opportunity for players to complete and unlock a secret character. Known as the ‘Blockbuster’ in Season 4, Epic Games implemented a set of challenges which could only be unlocked over multiple weeks after players completed various tasks across the Season. The same principle of ‘Blockbuster’ is back in Season 5 of Fortnite, and will now be known as ‘Road Trip.’ Like Season 4, the new multi-week endeavor requires players with the Battle Pass to complete all challenges from any seven different weeks of Season 5 to unlock the ‘Mystery Character.’ However, just completing all of the challenges in a specific week is not enough to earn the Road Trip character. Once a full slate of weekly challenges are completed, a player must then find the corresponding hidden Battle Star on the map for that respective week. Now that Season 5 is underway, the Battle Star for the Week 1 challenges has been discovered with the hint coming via the loading screen that is unlocked following the completion of the necessary challenges. The map held by Rex in the loading screen shows that the Battle Star can be found in the ‘quarry’ between Pleasant Park and Lazy Links (formerly Anarchy Acres), with the exact location able to be viewed below in the orange circle.

Traditionally players were asked to find a secret Battle Star somewhere on the map, but Banners were introduced at the end of Season 5 and Week 2 of Season 6 did the same. Week 3 saw a return of the Battle Star, which grants players a free Battle Pass tier, but Week 4 sees the return of the hidden Banner – an item that will be added to your inventory once collected. As always, the hint for where the item can be found is included in this week’s Hunting Party loading screen, shown below with the exact location circled: Once you’ve completed all seven of the standard challenges for Week 4, the Hunting Party challenge will be unlocked. Simply go to the location marked on the map below, climb up to the back of the Llama (you’ll probably want to collect some building materials), and you should be able to collect the Banner. Easy!

How to find the Infinity Blade sword in Fortnite – Dexerto
How to find the Infinity Blade sword in Fortnite There is a brand new weapon in Fortnite, added with the v7.01 update – but you will have to fight for it on the map, as the new Infinity Blade can only be found in one spot. Shown in the Season 7 trailer, the Infinity Blade will “deal big damage and destroy structures”, reminiscent of Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet which was previously in Fortnite. Unlike the Infinity Gauntlet however, the blade will be available in regular playlists, not just in its own separate mode. To get the sword, you will need to head to Polar Peaks, on the south west portion of the map, and head to the medieval castle. You will be best landing directly on the peak from the battle bus, rather than trying to build/climb up. Once there, you will need to head to the center courtyard, in front of the main entrance, and interact with the blade – but be aware, other players will also be vying for the sword’s power. Once you have held long enough and pulled the sword out, you will immediately be given 200 health and 200 shield, so you should be able to deal with any nearby enemies – and you will get 50 shield back for every kill. This is a remarkably powerful weapon, which players will likely be dropping for immediately, so you will need to be very fast – and lucky – to get it. If you do pick it up however, your inventory slots will disappear, meaning you can’t pick up other weapons or items as you play. If you’re unsure about the exact location of the Polar Peaks and the castle, here it is marked on the map. Fortnite streamer details how to be more effective with the Heavy ARIf you’re not first to it, you will want to make a quick escape, as your chances of defeating whoever has it are very slim.

How to find the hidden Battle Star for Week 5 of the Fortnite Hunting Party challenge The pattern of finding a Banner one week and a Battle Star the next continues with Week 5 of Season 6 in Fortnite Battle Royale as this week’s Hunting Party challenge involves another hidden Battle Star. Where to find Holo Chests and Safes in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 – Dexerto
Where to find Holo Chests and Safes in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Epic GamesAs Fortnite players surge through Chapter 4 Season 4’s quests, the third quest requires players to search Safes and Holo Chests, so here’s the best way to complete it. Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 brings along all-new weekly and seasonal quests for players to complete as they gain more XP in order to unlock their favorite cosmetics. Epic Games switches from Chapter 3’s WILDS theme and instead returns with a season titled ‘LAST RESORT’ that focuses on heists. Nolan Chance leads the heist team as fans look to progress through the Snapshot Questline in Fortnite. Holo Chests and Safes look to play a key part in the opening quests for the season, with the fifth quest being titled ‘Search Safes and Holo Chests’. After you have found and opened three Holo Chests or Safes you will gain 25,000 XP and the quest will be completed. We’ve got a guide for you to show you the easiest way to complete this quest. Also detailed below is where all the exact locations of Holo Chests and Safes can be found on the map. Where to find Holo Chests in Fortnite Holo Chests are containers that, unlike standard chests, project a hologram on the top of the loot that is inside. These chests were added to Fortnite all the way back in Chapter 3 Season 4. In order to access Holo Chests, you first need a key to unlock it, which can be found in regular chests, particular augments and even dropped by fallen players. Moreover, the keys can be purchased from Nolan Chance NPC at Frenzy Fields for 100 bars. It is also worth noting that you can only carry three keys at one time and rarer chests require more than one key, such as the Exotic Holo Chests. Alternatively, if you have 300 gold bars spare we would strongly suggest you just open three Holo Chests to complete the quest faster. These chests are always found to be in the same place in each game, making them easier to target. See the map below for their exact locations all around the island: Where to find Safes in Fortnite If you are instead low on bars, then Safes is still a viable option to complete the quest and they are relatively easy to find. Safes don’t require keys and can also contain bars, which you could use to exchange for keys from Nolan Chance at Frenzy Fields. As they are secure safes, they take longer to actually open than Holo Chests and can be found hidden within buildings in abundance. These safes are always found to be in the same place in each game, making them easier to target. See the map below for their exact locations around the island: That’s everything you need to know about where to find Holo Chests and Safes in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4! How to find the hidden ‘R’ for Fortnite’s Week 3 Missions – Dexerto
How to find the hidden ‘R’ for Fortnite’s Week 3 Missions Fortnite Battle Royale players looking to bump up some levels on their Chapter 2, Season 1 Battle Pass are going to need to find the location of ‘R’ in the game. If you would like to know where it is, you’ve came to the right place. Seasoned veterans of the popular battle royale game might have been surprised to know that hidden battle stars and banners had been removed with the game’s latest major update, although they have simply been replaced by different letters of the word ‘Fortnite’ instead. One letter has been hidden in each loading screen since the season began and now, for Week 3, it’s going to be an ‘R’ that you’re looking for. This week’s loading screen is based on Slurpy Swamp, a location that’s actually been having its fair share of issues since the season began. There was a minor problem – which has since been resolved – preventing players from receiving shield boosts by destroying slurpy barrels at one stage. In order to unlock the screen graphic above, players will have had to complete at least eight challenges from the Forged in Slurp Mission – as listed below. Full list of Forged in Slurp Mission challenges Search Chests at Slurpy Swamp or Retail Row (x7) – Eliminate opponents with a weapon of each rarity (x1) – Upgrade an item at a Weapon Upgrade Bench (x3) – Dance at Compact Cars, Lockie’s Lighthouse and a Weather Station (x1) – Deal Damage with Common weapons (x500) – Mark an Uncommon, Rare and Epic Item (x1) – Eliminate opponents at EGO outposts or Retail Row (x3) – Search Supply Drops in different matches (x250) – Deal Damage with Legendary weapons (x250) – Just to the right of the middle, you can see that the R in the loading screen. That’s where you will need to go in order to collect the latest letter. If the incentive of leveling up your Battle Pass isn’t enough of an incentive to collect all of these hidden letters, there’s also a mystery skin connected to the challenges. By finding them all, you will be given the fresh outfit for free at the end of the season.

How to find the hidden ‘T’ for Fortnite Week 4 Missions – Dexerto
How to find the hidden ‘T’ for Fortnite Week 4 Missions The fourth week of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 1 is almost here, and that means players have a brand new letter to search for, with a ‘T’ hidden somewhere on the map as part of the Week 4 Missions. For much of the popular battle royale’s first chapter, players would search for hidden Battle Stars in the loading screens of the game, but with so many major updates in Chapter 2, those stars have been replaced with letters, which will eventually spell out “Fortnite” once all eight have been discovered. Players can already find F, O, and R on the map, but with Week 4 about to kick-off, it’s time to find the T which marks the halfway point of your letter collection adventure. As always, only players who own the Season 1 Battle Pass will be able to find these letters, as you first must complete eight of the week’s Missions, which will go live on Thursday, October 31. Read More: Leaked Harpoon Gun coming soon to Fortnite – This week’s loading screen takes players to Dirty Docks, with a number of different Fortnite characters taking a look at some new cargo, with crates full of weapons and fish available at what appears to be some deal between a number of skins. The full Season 1, Week 4 loading screen. Hidden in the top right-hand corner of the loading screen is the letter you’re looking for, appearing in a dark hue that helps it blend into the night sky – making it pretty difficult to spot. The red crane is where you’ll need to head this week, so make your way up the stairs and the T will appear in front of you on one of the platforms as you make your way up the massive machine. The T can be spotted in the top right corner at Dirty Docks. Collecting these letters will help you rank up your Battle Pass with some free stars as a reward, but more importantly, grabbing all eight will help you complete the Alter Ego Missions which runs throughout the season. Remember though, you must complete eight of the Week 4 Missions before you go looking for it, so don’t head there until you have or else you’ll be wasting your time.

How to find the hidden ‘F’ for Fortnite Chapter 2 Missions – Dexerto
How to find the hidden ‘F’ for Fortnite Chapter 2 Missions Epic GamesFortnite Chapter 2 is officially underway, and Epic Games have ditched hidden Battle Stars in favor of hidden letters, with players hunting for an ‘F’ that has been hidden somewhere on the map. Much like Season 10, the developers have decided to scrap the idea of weekly challenges, instead opting to return to the Missions format for Season 1 of the game’s new chapter. With Battle Stars now a thing of the past, Epic Games have decided not to hide any of the shiny gold objects around the island, instead opting to place letters which presumably spell out “Fortnite” in various locations around the map. To unlock the Week 1 loading screen, players will need to complete any eight of the challenges from the New World Mission, which will then gift players with a loading screen as a reward. The first loading screen shows three of the game’s new default characters standing on a mountain looking down on the new map, with some new POI’s like Lazy Lake visible. Fortnite’s first loading screen of Chapter 2 gives players a look at the new map. Hidden in the image is a letter ‘F’, just to the right of the city on a small hill which is partially covered by clouds. How to find Fortnite’s highest elevations for Week 6, Season 8 challenges – Dexerto
How to find Fortnite’s highest elevations for Week 6, Season 8 challenges Epic GamesFortnite Battle Royale players have been tasked with a wide variety of different quests in the past, whether it’s eliminating enemies in certain locations or interacting with new features, but the highest points of the map will have to be conquered in Week 6, Season 8’s challenges. Data miners initially leaked the next set of Fortnite challenges that people will soon have to grind through and now the new list has been announced by Epic Games. Players are going to have to visit the five highest elevations on the island. As many players will already be aware, these high spots are scattered right across the map, with some sitting closer to others. So, let’s take a look at where you’re going to have to visit this week… What are the five highest elevations on the Fortnite island? We have assembled a quick and easy map that you can follow to locate each of the five highest points as quick as possible. As seen in the graphic above, the highest locations can be found in the west, southwest and northeast sections of the map. One of the more obvious high locations is the brand new volcano point of interest, which was added at the beginning of Season 8 on February 28, 2019, but other Fortnite destinations include: Polar Peak, a smaller peak near Frosty Flights, as well as two mountain tops between Snobby Shores and Pleasant Park. Visit the 5 highest elevations on the island: Step-by-step guide This is one of the three free challenges for Week 6, Season 8. Based on where you’re going to need to go, here’s the easiest way to reach all five. Make a note of the locations you need to visit and keep a lookout for wooden signs at each. – First, land on top of the highest castle Polar Peak. – Use ziplines to travel across to the next peak in the snow biome and stand at the tallest point. – Travel in the direction of Pleasant Park and build ramps to reach one of the two mountain tops. – Move to the other peak using ziplines, a Rift-To-Go or a nearby Quadcrasher. – Travel towards the top of the Volcano to complete the challenge. – These instructions are, of course, in an ideal world where you don’t run into other enemy players. However, it’s worth noting that you don’t have to visit all of them in the same session. If this proves to difficult a task to do all at once, simply drop at each location one by one every time a new game starts and complete the challenge that way, instead. What exactly are we looking for at Fortnite’s elevations? In order to register that you have visited these places, you’re going to need to find and stand next to the small wooden sign that says how high the location is from the floor. Examples of this can be found below, but they’re very easy to find once you’re at the very top of each place. So, there you have it. We hope that our quick and easy guide allows you to make easy work of this challenges and we’ll be posting a few more guides to help you with others from Week 6, Season 8. Good luck! Last updated on April 4.

How to find Fortnite’s hidden ‘E’ for Week 8 Missions – Dexerto
How to find Fortnite’s hidden ‘E’ for Week 8 Missions Fortnite Chapter 2 is now into its eighth week, and players who have been taking on the Alter Ego challenges will soon be able to search for the final hidden letter of the season, with an ‘E’ placed somewhere on the map. Players in Season 2 have become accustomed to searching for the letters, which replaced the hidden Battle Star that was used throughout Chapter 1 by the popular battle royale title’s developers Epic Games. Almost all of the letters for the Alter Ego challenge are now on the map, with the final letter in the form of an E set to be added to the game with the Dive! Missions that go live on Thursday, November 28. As always, only players who own the Season 1 Battle Pass will be able to find these letters, as you must complete any eight of the Dive! Challenges to be rewarded with a special loading screen, which is crucial to finding the letter. This week’s loading screen sees Fortnite characters embroiled in an epic battle, with explosions going off on a bridge as a number of skins make a quick getaway on a speedboat, while Rippley and Sludge struggle to keep up with the vehicle. With so much action taking place on the loading screen, it would be easy to miss the letter E, which sits on top of a lamppost between the exploding vehicles on top of the bridge. This bridge is where you’ll need to head once you complete eight Dive! Missions, and build your way up to the top of the lamppost to interact with the hidden letter. This letter can be tricky to find, as it isn’t located at any of the named locations on the Chapter 2 map, and doesn’t have any significant features to help you if you don’t know the island. If you’re struggling, we’ve marked the exact spot on the map below. Collecting these letters will help players complete one of the Alter Ego challenges, which run throughout the season, while also offering some free stars to help you rank up your Battle Pass. Remember though, you must have completed eight of the Dive! Missions before you can interact with the letter, so make sure you have or else you’ll be wasting your time.

With that behind them, Fortnite players can now look forward to a new set of Missions launching on Thursday, August 29, and a brand new hidden Battle Star that offers a free Battle Pass tier as a reward for finding it. As always, you’ll need to complete any three of the Week 5 Missions to unlock the loading screen, which shows some Fortnite characters sitting inside a biohazard warning symbol with some sort of slime oozing out of the logo. It’s in that slime that you need to focus, as it includes a sneaky hint as to where you need to go to discover the Battle Star this week. Every Fortnite loading screen always includes a hint as to where you need to go to if you want to grab the Battle Star, and for this one, you need to take a look at the slime on the left hand side of the images, as hidden in it are two coordinates that you need to follow. These are E 7/8 and F 7/8 , which will take you to the mountain which sits to the north-west of Fatal Fields, with players forced to head directly to the point on which those four blocks meet. If you’re still struggling to find it, you need to land on the mountain which has one tiny bungalow sitting on top of it, along with a basketball court behind it and a platform which creeps over the cliffside on the south-face of the hill. Make sure you’ve completed at least three of the Season 10, Week 5 Missions before you try and find it though, as you won’t be able to unlock it unless you have done so.

Those are actually the coordinates I2, I3, J2, and J3 coordinates, which match up with a location on the Fortnite map. Players will be heading just to the east of Sunny Steps, with the Battle Star set to appear on the point where those four blocks meet. If finding the exact location is proving to be difficult, you’re looking for the hill directly east of Salty Steps, just past the reimagined Risky Reels location, with a tower standing tall above it which should make it hard to miss once you’re over in that direction. Remember though, you need to have completed three of the fourth week’s missions before you will be able to unlock the Battle Star, so don’t head to the location unless you have three finished, or you’ll not be able to see the Battle Star at all.

It may take a moment to figure out where you recognize it from, but it is actually the logo of Sof Deez, an ice cream store and diner directly north of Paradise Palms. If you’re still struggling to find the correct location, the easiest way to get there is to head straight to the race track in the desert biome. Almost directly across the road sits Sof Deez. The building should be hard to miss, as it’s bright pink color, and the massive yellow ice cream which sits on top, makes it instantly recognizable. But did you know there’s a secret loot boat that provides all manner of weapons, materials and supplies? Season 3 has definitely been a huge change for Fortnite players, who had stuck through Season 2 as one of the longest seasons in the game’s history. Now, the map has adopted an aquatic theme, with only the south-east side of the map remaining mostly flood-free. With so much water now occupying the map, it’s no shock that some changes have been made to abide to the new flood theme, including a violent shark that literally eats players. That’s not all, though: apparently, there is a secret loot boat that can literally set you up for the entire game with some of the best weapons, heals and materials. So how do you find it? According to popular YouTuber Ali-A, finding the boat in Fortnite isn’t too difficult, but has handily set out a guide to finding the loot boat and using it to your advantage. How to find the secret loot boat in Fortnite As Ali-A says, the boat spawns in randomly, meaning you can’t just drop in the same spot every time and hope to find it: you’ve got to keep your eyes peeled as soon as you enter the battle bus. Here’s what you have to do: Start searching around the outer perimeter of the map as soon as you enter the battle bus. – Look for a boat or something that doesn’t look like it’s always there. – Keep an eye on your surroundings as you approach – if anyone else lands at the boat, your game might be over before it’s even started. – Check the entire boat for chests and supply drops – there’s loads! – Cut down the boat in its entirety for a boatload of materials. – Make sure you use the speedboat attached to the back of the loot boat to make a quick getaway and avoid the storm! – That’s all you have to do! It’s super easy, but you’re likely going to face a lot of competition trying to land here, so be prepared for some frustrating gunfights.

How to find Fortnite Ranger Shotgun: New weapon location – Dexerto
How to find Fortnite Ranger Shotgun: New weapon location Epic GamesThe brand new Ranger Shotgun has finally arrived in Fortnite; here is where you can find it. No matter what new weapons are added into the game, the community always seems to find a way to gravitate towards the litany of shotguns found around Fortnite’s map. Proving to be robust and rather capable, these guns have been an integral part of Fortnite’s meta since the game debuted back in October 2017. And Chapter 3, Season 2, seems to be no different. Epic Games has decided to add yet another shotgun to the fray with the release of the Ranger Shotgun. Here is where you can find it. What is the Ranger Shotgun Arriving with the Fortnite Battle Royale V20.20 update, the Ranger Shotgun is now available to players to wield for battle. The Ranger Shotgun is a new spin on the shotgun concept as the close combat specifics of your standard shotty take a backseat. Instead of emphasizing a long-range shooting style, the Ranger is a burst weapon with just one shot per reload. Why? Well, according to Epic Games themselves, because “each shot deals serious damage, you won’t need to panic while reloading.” Fair enough. Where to find the Ranger Shotgun Players will need to find the new shotty around the island to harness the new weapon’s power. Luckily, fans can find the coveted piece almost anywhere on the map as they are located on the ground, sharks, some vendors, chests, and even supply drops. As mentioned earlier, combatants will notice that the power of the new shotty is one of the most powerful shotguns the game has seen, with the standard version dealing 117 dmg. In comparison, the legendary variant can deal 142 dmg to opposing teams. It’s a potential game-changer. So, that’s all you need to know to retrieve the Ranger Shotgun! How to find Fortnite Season 3’s Fortilla key and open the Vault – Dexerto
How to find Fortnite Season 3’s Fortilla key and open the Vault Epic GamesFortnite Chapter 2, Season 3 flooded the entire map after Midas activated the Device—but now players get their turns to flood something of their own: their inventories with loot stolen from the Fortilla Vault. Chapter 2, Season 3 changed Fortnite’s map drastically, in one of the biggest revamps ever for the game, namely by washing away most of the game’s northwestern points of interest and sliding in the Fortilla, a brand new set of islands in the southwestern quadrant. Aside from wanting an excuse to travel to a new destination, players can now be additionally motivated to explore the Fortilla because they can defeat a boss, obtain a keycard, and then reap the benefits of boundless, formerly vaulted loot. South of Holly Hedges and west of Rickety Rig, you’ll find the Fortilla: a set of small islands surrounded by about five larger islands—all covered with structures resembling a tropical shanty town. How to open Fortilla Vault Drop at the Fortilla in Fortnite Season 3 – Scour the area for Ocean – Eliminate Ocean – Pick up Ocean’s Fortilla Keycard (and other loot) – Follow the Keycard’s directions to find and unlock the vault! – As mentioned by YouTube’s ‘Gamerz World,’ the best way to find Ocean is to glide around on one of the map’s boats and listen for her because she’s a talker. Once you defeat Ocean, you’ll get three great pieces of loot: Ocean’s Burst Assault Rifle, Ocean’s Bottomless Chug Jug, and the ever-important Fortilla Keycard. The Chug Jug is a nasty item, as it gives you full health and shields (and offers free refills). The gun is also mighty strong, but not nearly as exciting as the keycard, which will grant you directions and access to the Vault. When you have the Fortilla Keycard selected from your inventory, the game will show you arrows towards the Vault. Follow those directions, make it to the Vault, and, voila, loot as far as the eye can see. The new Fortilla Vault is the latest in the game since Catty Corner’s Vault was discovered. While you got some sick loot from that one, nothing is quite as quenching as Ocean’s bottomless Chug Jug.

How to find floating rings at Steamy Stacks in Fortnite Week 5 challenges – Dexerto
How to find floating rings at Steamy Stacks in Fortnite Week 5 challenges Epic GamesFortnite Season 3’s Week 5 Challenges have tasked players with collecting floating rings at Steamy Stacks. It’s a fairly simple challenge, so let’s run through everything you need to know to get it ticked off. First off, where actually is Steamy Stacks on the Fortnite Chapter 2 map? Unlike a lot of the past challenges, it’s actually a named location, so it shouldn’t be particularly difficult to find for any player who tries. Even so, we’ve marked it on the map below. You can find it in the very north east corner of the map. It is some way north of Dirty Docks and east of Craggy Cliffs. Expect for it to be fairly busy though, especially if you’re doing this shortly after the challenges go live. However, once you land at Steamy Stacks, where abouts can you find the rings? The floating rings themselves are pretty easy to identify – a light blue, shiny ring will stick out if you manage to get one in your POV. Players need to find 4 in total and, as the ‘floating’ description suggests, they are pretty high up. You’ll need to build to get to the rings, the locations of which are described below. Fortnite Week 5 Floating Ring Locations in Steamy Stacks Ring One – Floating just south of the tall silo in the south east corner of Steamy Stacks – Ring Two – Just north east of the second silo, slightly out to sea in the very corner of the map – Ring Three – Just north west of the second silo, slightly out to sea – Ring Four – Floating above the main building of Steamy Stacks, to the south west of the silos – Players will need to collect all four rings in order to complete this particular challenge. It’s ultimately not that difficult however, and any players who put their mind to it should be able to get it done swiftly. The rest of the Fortnite Week 5 challenges are also pretty simple: Search 7 Chest at Sweaty Sands – 3 Eliminations at Retail Row – Use a Firefly Jar or Flare Gun at Misty Meadows – Land at The Yacht and finish top 25 – Catch 5 fish at Craggy Cliffs – Upgrade a weapon at Salty Springs – As ever, there are pretty substantial XP rewards on offer, so get completing in order to rank up that Battle Pass!

The Deadpool skin is the latest Fortnite crossover with Marvel, and will reward players who complete a set of challenges each week, for an undetermined number of weeks. So far, there’s been two sets to complete, requiring you to not thank the bus driver, find his milk carton and find his three Chimichangas. The challenges for week three are not very glamourous, but are just as simple to complete. There is only one item to find this time, but you’ll also need to go on a bit of a toilet hunt. Deadpool Week 3 challenges Find Deadpool’s toilet plunger (1) – Destroy toilets (3) – Where to find Deadpool’s toilet plunger As you might expect, the plunger is located in the bathroom area where you will also find the computer with the challenges, and where the milk carton was located last week. Where to destroy toilets You will need to destroy a total of three toilets as well, but not just any toilets. For the challenge, it is believed that you can target either the portable toilets or the permanent ones in buildings and houses. However, the portable toilets are an easier target, as they are stacked in large bundles in various spots. We’ve put together a map of the locations where you can find these, but you’ll need to destroy ones in different locations to complete the challenge. You can only destroy one portable toilet per location. Although you’ll still have to wait for the skin itself, completing this week’s challenges will finally give you a reward for your efforts. You’ll receive the Wade grenade spray, which admittedly isn’t anywhere near as cool as the skin itself, but at least it’s something. If you need to complete the challenges from previous weeks too, check out our full Deadpool skin challenge guide.

Steel Bridges locations in Fortnite Once you’ve completed both of these tasks, you’ll be rewarded with this week’s Deadpool reward. It’s not the full skin yet, that won’t be for a few weeks still, but you will get a new loading screen. It will be the ‘Cuddletime Coup’ loading screen, showing the Marvel superhero snuggling in with the Cuddle Team Leader, with the description “There’s a new leader in town.” If you still need to complete any of the previous week’s tasks, you can find our full Deadpool challenge guide here to unlock the skin.

How to find Deadpool’s secret base on Fortnite Season 2 map – Dexerto
How to find Deadpool’s secret base on Fortnite Season 2 map Epic GamesPopular YouTuber Alistair ‘Ali-A’ Aiken has shared where you can find Deadpool’s secret base in the Fortnite map, after it was teased in the official trailer. Since the Chapter 2 Season 2 update, fans have taken on the newly added challenges that will allow players to earn an exclusive skin in yet another Fortnite and Marvel crossover. The latest character to make an appearance in the Fortnite universe is Deadpool, who briefly appeared towards the end of the season’s battle pass trailer, confirming his arrival in Season 2. Although a new Deadpool skin will be unlockable for battle pass holders (once a set of challenges are completed), the arrival of the latest character also resulted in some map changes. Fortnite YouTuber Ali-A revealed that the superhero’s arrival also included his secret base, which was hinted at in the battle pass trailer, that players could find in-game. He reveals that to find the secret base players will need to travel to the new cabin, that was introduced in the season 2 update, which is on the outskirts of Weeping Woods. Topic starts at 7:45 for mobile users. Once inside the cabin, players will need to look for a bookshelf on the wall similar to the one in the battle pass trailer and interact with it to find the hidden entrance. After walking behind the bookshelf, players will find a hole in the floor that will lead players to the secret base once they drop down inside. Although it is unclear what the purpose of the Marvel hero’s underground lair is as of yet, fans can still check it out and get some pretty good loot in the process. It is possible that the hidden base might be needed to complete some of the upcoming Deadpool challenges, and it is likely that more information will be shared on it in the near future.

How to find Deadpool’s Milk Carton & Chimichangas for Fortnite challenge – Dexerto
How to find Deadpool’s Milk Carton & Chimichangas for Fortnite challenge Epic GamesThe second week of challenges for the Deadpool skin in Fortnite are here, with two tasks required this time – to find Milk Cartons and Chimichangas around the HQ. There was lots of excitement when the latest Epic Games and Marvel crossover was revealed as a surprise with the start of Season 2, this time bringing a Deadpool skin to the game, as everyone wondered why it hadn’t been done before. But, getting the skin isn’t as easy as going to the in-game store and dropping some V-Bucks, instead, you’ll need to complete a set of challenges over the course of the season. The first week’s challenge couldn’t have been simpler, as you just had to NOT thank the bus driver as you dropped from the battle bus. Unfortunately, things aren’t so straight forward this time around, as you’ll have to go on a bit of a hunt for some items. How to find Deadpool’s Milk Carton You will find Deadpool’s Milk Carton in the same room as the challenge list itself. First, head to the battle pass tab, and then navigate to the Agent’s briefing room, and then Agent Brutus. Once in Deadpool’s bathroom area, where the computer is, you’ll find the milk carton nestled between the cubicle door hinge. Where to find Deadpool’s Chimichangas There are three of these Chimichangas to find in total to complete the challenge, and none of them are very well hidden. The first, and most obvious, is sitting just below the Challenge Table in the briefing room. Next, go to Maya’s upgrade vault, and you’ll find the second Chimichanga on the shelf behind her. Lastly, the final Chimichanga is in Brutus’s briefing room, on the desk on the right hand side of the room. Once you’ve found all three Chimichangas and the Milk Carton, you will have completed this week’s Deadpool challenges. It’s unclear how many weeks worth of challenges there will be before the skin is unlocked, but we’d guess at least 7 or 8. Check back next week for the Week 3 Deadpool challenges, or for a full list of all the challenges so far, check out out how to get the Deadpool skin guide.

How to find Deadpool’s pistols to unlock skin in Fortnite Week 7 – Dexerto
How to find Deadpool’s pistols to unlock skin in Fortnite Week 7 Epic GamesThe time has finally come to unlock the Deadpool skin in Fortnite, but first you’ll need to complete another couple of challenges, capping off a grueling seven weeks of tasks. Here’s how to find his pistols and become the ‘super-est of superheroes’. The Deadpool skin was actually revealed all the way back at the start of Season 2 in the v12.00 update, but no one has actually been able to use it in-game. That’s because you first need to complete seven weeks’ worth of challenges, with two new tasks set each week. Finally, we have the last two you’ll need to do. First, if you haven’t completed any of the challenges in previous weeks, you can find our full Deadpool skin guide here, and rattle them off quickly. Then, once you’re all caught up, it’s time to get into the final two challenges. First up, you’ll need to find Deadpool’s pistols, his iconic dual wield weapon. Where to find Deadpool’s pistols Like most of the items that need to be found for him, Deadpool’s pistols will be located in the HQ, but in different spots. The first you will find under the table in the main briefing room: You’ll then find the second pistol inside Meowscles gym room, just down on the floor to his right. Enter a Phone Booth or Portapotty to become the Super-est of Superheroes Finally, you have another odd challenge to complete before getting your hands on the skin itself. You will need to enter either a Phone Booth or Portapotty to do complete this task, which is incredibly straight forward. Although there are booths and portapotties dotted all over the map, the best place to do this is the agency, where you will see them both together. You can find the Agency directly in the center of the map, east of Salty Springs and southwest of Frenzy Farm. There’s a lot more Deadpool-themed content coming to Fortnite too, in addition to the main skin. A Yacht POI, skin style, battle bus and drops will all be added, according to leaks. You can see all the leaked items here. Deadpool has confirmed his Yacht is on the way on April 3. Starting tomorrow, I’M crashing this party. There’ll be music, tacos, and a whole lotta Deadpool. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this. pic.twitter.com/ubrsOFalvf — Deadpool (@Deadpool) April 2, 2020 Once you’ve got the base skin, it looks like you’ll also be able to use a variant without his mask on. It’s not known yet if we’ll have to complete even more challenges to unlock this style though. Stay tuned to Dexerto for the latest on the Deadpool crossover in Fortnite.

How to find Deadpool’s big black marker & deface posters: Fortnite Week 6 – Dexerto
How to find Deadpool’s big black marker & deface posters: Fortnite Week 6 Epic GamesEpic Games are set to add a new Deadpool skin into Fortnite in the coming weeks, and it looks like players are coming towards the end of the series of challenges they need to complete. The Deadpool themed Fortnite challenges are not particularly new to Chapter 2, given that this is the sixth consecutive week in which players are tasked with overcoming challenges to get closer to unlocking the merc with the mouth. Week Six is thought to be the penultimate week of Deadpool challenges, and they once again leaked online ahead of being available in-game. As with Week 5, players are tasked with finding an item that is to be used in a match. So, what exactly are the Deadpool Week 6 Fortnite challenges? Well, on paper at least, they’re very simple. Players have to first find Deadpool’s Big Black Marker, before defacing either the GHOST or SHADOW recruitment posters. It’s that easy. Where to find Deadpool’s big black marker Deadpool’s big black marker will be located somewhere in the HQ, where all of the other Deadpool-themed items have been found. Speculation points to Deadpool’s Hideout, but we will confirm this as soon as possible. Where to deface GHOST or SHADOW posters Once you have the ‘Big Black Marker’, you need to deface 3 GHOST or SHADOW posters. You can find 3 in Frenzy Farm, at the locations outlined below. Frenzy Farm is just northeast of the center of the map. Week 6 Deadpool Fortnite Reward As a reward for completing the aforementioned challenges, players will receive the Deadpool wrap, which can be applied to weapons, vehicles and everything else a standard wrap can apply too. As expected, it is red and black, just like the character’s trademark suit. It also features the character’s face on the side, rounding off a decent-looking wrap. While not the prize players are ultimately after, it is just one step closer to the Deadpool skin, which many players are keen to get their hands on.

How to find all soccer characters in Fortnite Season 6 – Dexerto
How to find all soccer characters in Fortnite Season 6 Epic GamesAfter the release of update 16.30, Neymar Jr. is now unlockable in Fortnite Season 6. To get him, though, players have to find three Soccer player NPCs located around the island. Here’s where you can find them for yourself. After weeks of anticipation, Neymar Jr. is finally available for Fortnite Season 6 Battle Pass owners. Like other “secret skins” from past seasons, players need to undergo a few challenges in order to unlock him. While they’re generally pretty easy, most of them require you to find Soccer player NPCs located around the map and complete quests from them. Here’s where you can find each one. Derby Dominator Fortnite location The first Soccer character, named Derby Dominator, can be found over at Holly Hedges. Players will need to go to the very east side of the POI and find the soccer field in order to locate them. As with all the other spots, players should wary of other players landing at the POI, considering both how popular it is and how many people are doing the quests themselves. Galactico Fortnite location The second Soccer player, named Galactico, can be found over at Pleasant Park. Players will have to go to the soccer field located at the center of the POI in order to find them. This is one of the easier characters to find, as the soccer field is one of the most well-known spots within the POI. Shot Stopper Fortnite location The final Soccer player, named Shot Stopper, is found at Dirty Docks. Players have to find the soccer field, which is located at the southeast corner of the point-of-interest, right next to the water. Considering the size of the POI, this one is a bit annoying to find without knowing the exact location. Currently, these three are the only soccer players that can be found throughout the map for the Neymar Jr. quests, so you’ll have to jump to these three locations in order to get to them.

How to find and open the secret door at Shuffled Shrines in Fortnite – Dexerto
How to find and open the secret door at Shuffled Shrines in Fortnite Epic GamesWondering where to find the secret door at Shuffled Shrines in Fortnite? Or maybe you’re struggling to open it? Here’s everything you need to know to complete this task. Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 has just been given a huge Indiana Jones-themed update, with the iconic temple explorer’s skin now available to unlock and a brand new POI called Shuffled Shrines appearing on the map. In order to get all of these Indiana Jones cosmetics, you’ll need to find the secret door at Shuffled Shrines, but opening it is quite tricky, as there’s a puzzle to solve that involves turning four stones with drawings on them. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about this secret door, including where to find it, how to open it, and the treasures that await inside. Contents Where to find the secret door at Shuffled Shrines in Fortnite The secret door in Fortnite can be found at the center of the main building in Shuffled Shrines, which is a brand new POI that’s located south of Sanctuary and west of The Joneses on the map. It shouldn’t be too hard to find, but be aware that there will probably be loads of other players trying to find and open this secret door too, so you might have some fierce competition when you land here. How to open the secret door at Shuffled Shrines in Fortnite As you might have guessed, the key to opening the secret door at Shuffled Shrines is the four stones that appear in front of it – but you’ll need to search for clues to figure out the correct order to turn them. There are four stones hidden around the edges of Shuffled Shrines that each display one of the color-coded drawings. Their locations roughly correspond to the positions of the stones in front of the secret door. We’ve marked all of the hidden stone locations on the Fortnite map below: As the color-coded drawings displayed on these stones changes at random in each match, you’ll need to keep track of them as you find them. We recommend taking screenshots or writing them down in order. Return to the secret door and turn the stones in the order that corresponds with their location on the map. If you do this correctly, the door will open and you’ll be able to venture inside… What’s behind the secret door at Shuffled Shrines in Fortnite? Once you get inside the secret door, you’ll need to watch out for traps along the walls as these will shoot darts at you when you pass by. You can always destroy them with a weapon to save yourself from damage. If you make it past those traps without being eliminated, you’ll find a rare artefact on a podium – pick it up and you’ll get 250 Gold Bars. There are also Mythic Chests here that will give you high-tier weapons. The temple will start to rumble when you pick up the rare artefact, but we didn’t notice anything happen beyond this when we tried it, so don’t worry about traps or anything like that; simply exit the room. If you’ve completed the first four Indiana Jones Quests and unlocked the next set, you should now have also completed the ‘Find the Secret Door past the Main Chamber’ quest and unlocked the Indy’s Dustoff emote.
