Getting a Lightsaber in Survival Mode When you first drop into Survival Mode, a Star Destroyer will crash on the map as the Imperials army chases the Rebels. Your first step will be to find Captain Bravara, which if you are starting a new world, is easy. She will spawn right next to you, and you can speak with her to get your hands on some Macrobinoculars. You can use these to find the Rebel Outpost. However, there are reports that players jumping into existing worlds aren’t having Captain Bravara spawn with them, which means you will have to find the Rebel Outpost on your own. This isn’t too difficult, luckily; the camp can be found in the Grasslands and you will be able to see its campfire smoke at night. Regardless, now that you have found the Rebel Outpost, you will need to level the base up to Level 6. You can do this by supplying the Rebels with supplies and resources, building structures for the base, and more. Once you have reached Level 6 with the base, Captain Bravara will give you the Lightsaber, providing you with a new weapon to take on Stormtroopers, as well as some unique challenges. Getting a Lightsaber in Sandbox Mode Getting a Lightsaber in Sandbox Mode for LEGO Fortnite is much easier, as when you hop into a Sandbox game, the Lightsaber will automatically be added to your inventory. All you have to do is equip it through there and it’s yours to use as you please.

How to fast travel in Fortnite using the Cube and Floating Island The season 6 map changes have provided a new way to travel around the Fortnite map quickly. The mysterious Cube disappeared into Loot Lake at the end of Season 5, only to reappear at the base of an island floating in the air. Players discovered that you can fast travel around the map in Fortnite by using the new floating cube. If you shoot the Cube while floating up to the Island, the Cube will send out a lightning bolt that launches you into the air. This increased height is enough to glide to any location on the Fortnite map. Reddit user ImSpeedyGonzales broke down the Fortnite fast travel process in a detailed video. The Cube is referred to as Kevin, a nickname that has caught on in the Fortnite Community. ImSpeddyGonzales advises to only shoot the south side of the Cube, since that’s where the most consistent lightning attacks come from. You will also need to be below the surface of the Floating Island to pull off this fast travel trick, the Cube’s lightning will not be able to reach you if you are above the surface. Users in the search of speed should note that the Cube will damage you, taking off 30 health. You will also have to use materials to build up to the Floating Island, but being able to glide to anywhere on the map seems like a worthy trade.

There have been plenty of extraterrestrial-themed features for players to enjoy since the latest Invasion season arrived, including flyable UFOs, powerful new IO Tech weapons, and small map changes like the introduction of IO Bases. But the Mothership that’s been looming over the map has so far remained sealed – until now. Following the v17.10 update, players will be able to enter the Mothership as a new POI on the map and discover everything that’s inside it. And trust us when we say you’ll want to see this. As well as plenty of powerful loot to be found, there are also some pretty epic throwbacks to the maps of previous seasons that will please longtime fans of the game. How to get inside the Mothership in Fortnite The only way to get inside the Mothership is to be abducted into it by a new kind of UFO called Abductors. These are bigger than the UFOs we’ve seen so far in Fortnite, and you won’t be able to fly them yourself. Here’s how to be abducted and enter the Mothership: Check the map for any UFO icons at the start of a match. – Head towards one of these UFOs. They’re known as ‘Abductors’. – Stand beneath it and wait for a beam of light to attach to you. – Run around and eventually it will abduct you into the Mothership. – A helpful tip is that you can also land on top of the Abductor UFOs to find some chests and weapons, which will give you a head start. Once you’ve stocked up, you can glide safely down to the Island below. As soon as you enter the Fortnite Mothership, you’ll be given a jetpack and the ‘experiment’ will begin. How to collect more orbs and earn high-tier loot Once you’re inside the Mothership, you’ll have a limited time to explore your new surroundings and stock up on anything you need. There are orbs to collect, and the more you have, the better loot you can access. Fortunately, you don’t have to worry about health here. Any weapons you’ve collected so far will be temporarily taken away, and you’ll have a space gun that can send enemies flying – but it won’t be able to eliminate them. The best method for collecting orbs is to watch where they’re going to land and head there before anyone else. A double jump provided by your jetpack will help. Collect timer orbs to give yourself more time to collect enough loot orbs. Once your time is up or you’ve collected enough orbs, you’ll be sent to a loot room where you can claim your rewards. The more orbs you collected, the better quality the loot. Get all five stars, and you’ll have Legendary weapons waiting for you. What is inside the Mothership in Fortnite? The Mothership serves as a brand new POI for Fortnite Season 7. It has a lobby with purple neon lighting details, and it appears that the Zero Point is housed inside of it, meaning it wasn’t destroyed by the aliens. There’s also a loot room when you finish collecting orbs, which offers plenty of high-tier chests to stock up on powerful weapons before you descend back down to the Island. But without a doubt, the most exciting part of this new POI is that it contains loads of old fan favorite landmarks that have left the map over recent seasons, including the Butter Barn and Lucky Landing. Does this mean that every time a landmark has left the Fortnite map, it’s actually been abducted by aliens? Or is this just a fun nod to past seasons? So, here’s what you need to know about getting involved. While fans have flocked to Fortnite to experience the popular and vibrant battle royale, many have tried to make their make with their own ideas for cosmetics, points of interest, and even weapons. Some have seen their cosmetics in the game – with the Tender Defender – being the most notable, but there’s also a few emotes in there too. They came from the Boogie Down competition that Epic Games ran back in 2018 but now they’re re-doing it in the form of the Emote Royale on TikTok. One of the quests that players have been struggling with requires them to “emerge from water,” so here’s exactly how you can do this in Fortnite to complete the quest. How to emerge from water in Fortnite To emerge from water in Fortnite, you will just need to enter and exit out of some water during your Battle Royale match. You can simply jump out of the Battle Bus at the start of your match and land at any body of water. This can be anything from a shallow puddle, small pond, or any of the various lakes dotted around the Island. As soon as you leave step in and out of the water you will be notified that you have completed the “Emerge from water” Korra quest. After your match is finished, you will then receive the Korra Loading Screen as your reward for completion. How to easily destroy flying X-4 Stormwing plane in Fortnite for Week 7, Season 7 challenge (map included) The weekly challenges for Week 7 of Season 7 in Fortnite Battle Royale are now live and one of the requires players to destroy an X-4 Stormwing plane while it’s still flying in the air. The first inclination players may have for how to complete this challenge is to play a match until they come across an enemy player flying a plane and then try to shoot it down. While destroying an X-4 Stormwing may not seem like that hardest challenge to complete, it’s certainly not easy to do it while the plane is still air-bound, especially if the enemy will be trying their very best to avoid damage. Instead, there is actually another method that’s much easier, more efficient, and can be done without having to wait around or engaging an enemy plane. This method, shared by Reddit user ‘sniperman599,’ involves finding an unoccupied Stormwing, inflicting damage upon it while it’s still on the ground, hopping in to start flying it, then jumping out and shooting it down to complete the challenge. The key here is to do enough damage to it while it’s on the ground but making sure not to accidentally do too much damage and destroying it. This makes the rest of the process simple and easy. The method could work even better when doing it with teammates, since one can fly the damaged plane and then jump out of it so that it can be immediately shot down by the other. As for where to find these planes, here is a handy map that shows all of the known locations where the X-4 Stormwings naturally spawn in. You will still need a weapon of some sort to complete this challenge, so landing directly next to a plane right away may not be the best idea. To unlock the wrap, the community will have to earn 2,500,000,000 points. which may seem like an astronomically high number, but you have to keep in mind that Fortnite has a massive player base, so this challenge shouldn’t be too difficult in the long run. With the release of the 14.30 update on Tuesday, we’ve officially kicked off Week 8 of the fourth season, and as always, that means we have a brand-new set of challenges to sink your teeth into. While this challenge, which asks you to drive a car into a rift, sounds a little complicated, it’s actually fairly straight forward, and we’ve got everything you need to complete this challenge as quickly as possible so you can go back to getting Victory Royales. How to quickly complete Fortnite’s ‘Drive a car into a rift’ challenge Finding an actual rift won’t be too difficult, as they can be seen floating in the air all across the map. Finding a car and a rift in close proximity isn’t quite as easy though, and that’s what you’ll want to do if you want to avoid driving around aimlessly hoping to stumble across one, during which time you could find yourself under attack from enemy players. The good news is that there are at least two locations that have cars close to a rift, which will make this challenge incredibly easy to complete, and also mean you won’t spend ages trying to do it, so you can get back to hunting down opponents and eliminating them from the game. The easiest place to grab vehicles is Stark Industries, which has lots of cars in the parking lot, with a rift on the road that heads north when you leave through the main exit. The north-west below the Lighthouse also has Trask’s Truck sitting ready to be driven, with rifts on the hills around it. We’ve marked the two locations on the map below. You may have to build a ramp up to some of the rifts to make sure your car goes through it, but once you get catapulted high into the sky, you should receieve a notification telling you that it is now completed. It’s definitely worth taking this task on if you’re working on your Season 4 Battle Pass, as it offers a massive 25,000 XP reward to help you boost up and unlock new skins and cosmetic items.

In Fortnite, structures that are in the process of being built have a blue, transparent outline that forms, giving the player a few moments to aim through it before the structure is complete. There are two variations of the ‘Reddit Snipe,’ one which can be done solo and one that requires a teammate. Where to find remote explosives Finding remote explosives could prove to be the more difficult part of this challenge, considering they are purple rarity items. However, we have a few tips that may help players locate them more easily: High-traffic areas like The Daily Bugle and Chonkers Speedway are good places to find rare loot. – Open plenty of chests as they also have a chance to hold remote explosives. – Try to eliminate players who dropped nearby as they may have looted remote explosives in the area before you. – Remote explosives can be purchased with gold from NPCs around the map, like Peely. – If those tips fail, try to relocate to another area and continue to search. Since loot is randomly generated it may just take a bit of luck until you get the proper setup to complete this challenge. After players have located at least one remote explosive, it’s time to look for a turret to explode. Where to find turrets Thankfully, there is a bit of leeway in terms of which turrets count toward completing this challenge. Players can explode Siege Cannons as well as Light and Heavy Turrets to complete the objective. You can find Siege Cannons scattered around both Tilted Towers and Command Caverns. Siege Cannons will be easy to spot as they are much larger than other turrets. Alternatively, players can find them on board the airships flying above the previously mentioned areas. Light and Heavy turrets may prove a bit harder to find due to their overall rarity, but luckily they are not restricted to any area around the map. When looking for these turrets, players need to keep an eye out for sandbag walls at ground level, as these structures will house turrets to explode. After locating either a Siege Cannon or a Light or Heavy turret, simply equip a remote explosive, throw it on or near a turret and detonate it. Weekly quests/challenges are back once again, and some of them are going to confuse players just a little. Thankfully, we are going to walk over how to destroy shrubs for Fortnite Season 7! What are Shrubs and where do I find them? Essentially, Shrubs are medium-sized ball of leaves that you have certainly come across from time to time when playing Fortnite. They are uniform in design and players will spot them at notable POIs such as Retail Row and Holly Hedges. One of the first challenges for Fortnite Season 7 requires players to find and destroy 25 of them, doing this will earn you 12,000 XP to help progress your Battle Pass quickly. This is a good challenge to get started with, as it will not take too much time and there is a boatload of XP to go around for doing it. How to destroy Fortnite Slurp Trucks with just one hit Epic GamesFortnite’s Slurp Barrels, Trucks, and more are some of the most useful items in the game because they can provide you with shields with only a few swings from the pickaxe. But there’s apparently a way to get these shields even faster. Slurp Trucks in Fortnite are one of the most sought after features in the battle royale game. While any of the “slurp” items are popular, the Slurp Truck is a vehicle that allows you to fully replenish your shields, allowing you to quickly get back into the fight. The only problem with the Trucks is that they take a while to break. They have 600 health meaning even with consistent, aimed swings from your pickaxe, you’ll still have to stop what you’re doing to focus on the Truck before you have full shields. While there have been exploits in the past to give you shields quickly (which have all been patched out), this new method may be one of the easiest yet. Destroying a Slurp Truck with one hit The method was shown off by Reddit user Jedisiri21 and, unlike other methods in the past which involve building, this method requires you to simply use your normal pickaxe. It also requires you to aim pretty precisely but it doesn’t seem like anything that’s too hard. Read More: Fortnite Season 6 to start March 16 – That being said, the method itself is fairly simple to understand: Find a Slurp Truck on the map – Go to the side of the truck and aim towards the exhaust pipe, aiming towards the back section – Jump up and swing towards the tip of the exhaust pipe (this can also apparently be done while standing on the truck itself) – If you hit the right spot, it’ll break in one hit – Of course, after it breaks, the players will be rewarded with full shields. Should they practice this, it’s easy seeing this method go mainstream, as it allows people to spend a minimal amount of time getting shields, so they can get back into the fight as quickly as possible. Of course, the point remains that, as far as anyone’s aware, the Slurp Truck is not supposed to act like this, meaning it’s more than likely a bug. Epic has been pretty good about fixing these types of things in the past so they’ll more than likely have some sort of fix or patch on the way before you know it. Still, it’s an interesting strategy nonetheless and it’ll be interesting to see just how adopted this becomes with the Fortnite community going forward.

Even though the enemy is equipped with two Mythic items, here’s how you can defeat him easily. Fortnite’s latest v25.10 is the first significant update for Chapter 4 Season 3, and it introduces numerous adjustments to both the Battle Royale and Zero Build modes. The update adds a new cloaking item that renders players invisible in the WILDS, as well as a few new augments, weapon vaults, and unvaults. Wildguard Relik, a new NPC boss, can be found in the jungle biome of the Fortnite island and is one of the game’s most notable new additions. When an intruder approaches, unlike the Highcard boss, Relik uses his Cloak Gauntlets to make himself invisible and immediately begins attacking the player. Moreover, Raptors can be tamed and used as allies in battle against Wildguard Relik, increasing your chances of success and doing additional damage to the boss. So, here’s where you can find him as well as the best tactics to use against the Mutant. For the past few seasons, Fortnite players have been able to do battle with NPCs and get unbelievable loot as a reward. Previously, it had been characters that Epic Games had created like Midas but now, it’s all about Marvel. Players can fight iconic characters like Iron Man and Doctor Doom for the chance to wield their superpowers and also unlock loot via their specific vaults. Aside from those two, however, you can also fight Wolverine – although he doesn’t have a vault that you can unlock. Instead, the X-Men character just has his abilities as a reward but he can be difficult to find. Wolverine location in Fortnite If you want to do battle with the mutant, you aren’t going to find him at his own POI like Iron Man and Stark Industries. Instead, he’s found one of two normal POIs. Typically, you’ll be able to find Wolverine hanging out around Weeping Woods. He can be found in the forest itself or around the buildings where some players will drop early on for materials and loot. However, he can also make the journey over to Slurp Factory. Why you might ask? Well, nobody is sure. But, randomly, he can be found there so be sure to fully search these areas before giving up on finding him. Wolverine Fornite fight guide As for defeating Wolverine, there aren’t many cheese strategies like there are to defeating both Iron Man and Doctor Doom – you aren’t going to be able to lock him in a corner. Instead, you’ll want a vehicle of some sort to use as cover. If you park a car or Choppa between yourself and Wolverine and then engage him, you can easily run circles around the vehicle while dealing damage. You’ll also want a shotgun or assault rifle, as well as plenty of ammo – you aren’t going to take him down with a pistol. One you knock him down, make sure to complete the elimination or Wolverine will revive himself. When you ultimately defeat Wolverine, you’ll be able to use his skin in your games moving forward – meaning you’ll stand out from the crowd and prove that you’ve beaten the Mutant. It’s not an easy task, and certainly isn’t one that every player will be able to complete, but it’s not completely impossible.

It also introduces a formidable boss, the Vampire version of Kado Thorne. Here’s how you can defeat the boss and obtain his mythic blade. Fortnite’s annual Halloween celebrations have finally arrived, as the 26.30 content patch introduces a brand-new edition of Fortnitemares. The update adds a variety of new seasonal cosmetics, weapons, and Halloween-themed paint to the Battle Bus. The Fortnitemares 2023 event is quite different from previous iterations, as it not only brings a variety of fun items for players to enjoy on the island, but also introduces a formidable boss directly connected to the lore and demonstrates the possibility of time travel through an actual Time Machine. Kado Thorne, who has unleashed his Vampire form and is now guarding the Time Machine on his Eclipsed Estates property, is the new boss here. The newly updated NPC also wields the Vampiric Blade, which is technically an improved Kinetic Blade and an additional surprise weapon that can only be obtained by defeating him. If you’re interested in acquiring these mythic weapons and defeating the boss in Fortnite, this guide will help you do so effortlessly. Where to find the Vampire Kado Thorne boss in Fortnite The Vampire Kado Thorne boss is located within the Eclipsed Estates vault. Originally, outside the vault there were two turrets and a regular Kado Thorne boss guarding the area. After defeating the enemy, the player could claim a Mythic Scoped Burst SMG and the Vault Keycard. After the 26.30 patch, the vault is now fully accessible, and the previously-locked secret vault door is now wide open. As soon as you enter, you’ll notice the Vampire boss roaming inside the second vault door that contains the Time Machine. How to defeat the Vampire boss and acquire Thorne’s Vampiric Blade Once you’re inside the second vault, the Vampire boss will start shooting the Mythic Drum Gun towards you. Note that the display cases in this vault no longer exist, so the only way to obtain the two mythic weapons in this POI is to defeat the Vampire boss that roams there. As soon as you obtain the Vampiric Blade, use it to traverse the map, as it now has three charges when you use it to launch yourself. In addition, there is a 10 second cooldown between charges, which is considerably faster than the previous Kinetic Blade. The interesting feature however about this mythic is that you acquire Syphon upon eliminating enemies with the Vampiric Blade. Consequently, it is currently one of the finest mythic utility weapons in the game and should be looted during Fortnitemares 2023 to easily complete quests and grab a spooky Victory Royale. In previous seasons, these Mythic weapons and items have been guarded by fierce non-playable characters known as bosses. These are much harder to take down than the average player in Epic Games‘ battle royale title and often have henchman by their side to protect the valuable loot they hold. Luckily for you, in Season 5 it’s not as difficult as times gone by – because there’s not as many of them to tackle. In fact, getting ahold of The Mandalorian Mythic set is pretty easy if you know where to look. All you have to do is be the person that takes him down. That’s what we’re going to help with. Fortnite Season 5 Mythic weapon and item location First of all, you’re going to have to know where to go. The Mandalorian can be seen patrolling around one area of the map in Fortnite Season 5, and it’s just south of Colossal Coliseum, as seen in the map below. There, you will find not only the character but also his parked up ship. At this location, he will be carrying both a Mythic weapon and jetpack. These can be obtained by taking him out, just like a bounty hunter. How to get The Mandalorian’s Jetpack & Amban Sniper Rifle (Mythic) Now you know where he is, it’s all about eliminating him as fast as possible. Here’s the best way to defeat him: Drop from the Battle Bus at The Mandalorian’s ship, located between Colossal Coliseum and Lazy Lake. – Land with a good distance between yourself and the ship. – Pick up a weapon nearby. – Reach high ground, which is actually a slope of sand near the ship. – Use cover to protect yourself from his shots, or build, and by peeking out with your weapon keep firing at him. – Collect the Mandalorian Mythic Items (Amban Sniper Rifle & The Mandalorian’s Jetpack) from the downed character. – Head over to the ship and open the Razor Chest. – Do have in mind that this is the only known boss on the Fortnite Season 5 map, with others expected to join him, so it’s bound to be a popular landing spot. That’s the quickest and safest way you’re going to be able to get ahold of that elusive Razor Chest in Fortnite Season 5.

How to defeat TNTina and get Mythic Boom Bow in Fortnite Season 2 Epic GamesPlayers who dive into Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2 now have the chance to take down five bosses for a chance at some mythic loot. So, here’s how you can defeat TNTina and grab the Boom Bow. Following the launch of the V12.00 update, Epic Games added five NPC bosses and an army of henchman to the new set of locations on the battle royale map. While these bosses can be a bit of a pain to take down – they have got some ridiculous amounts of health and shield after all – doing so is a rewarding task. You’ll get access to the specific location’s loot vault, as well as the mythic weapon that the defeated boss will drop. We’ve already run through guides on how to defeat Brutus, Midas, and Skye, so the next one in line for you to take down is TNTina. If you’ve not come up against the explosive sounding boss just yet, that’s probably because you haven’t been to The Rig. The Oil Rig location is based nearly Slurpy Swamp and you can get lost at sea, quite literally, if the storm isn’t in your favor. That, however, won’t be a huge concern though, as you should be more worried about taking down TNTina. So, here’s how you can do so: Drop from the Battle Bus and land at The Rig – Land on top of the white building numbered as ‘3’ – dig down and drop inside the building – Grab whatever weapon is floating as floor loot and jump outside the building so that you can enter a door – Takedown one of the henchmen that awaits you inside and carry them upstairs to the ID scanner chest – Open the chest and take the weapons that pop out – Head downstairs and takedown TNTina. Aim for headshots as you’ll do more damage – Collect her Mythic Boom Bow and The Rig keycard, which can be used to open the vault – Unlike Brutus, Midas, and Skye, there aren’t many tips or tricks that you can use to defeat TNTina on The Rig, but you should use the doors in here building as cover until she destroys them with the boom bow. Once you wield the boom bow, you can do some serious damage to opponents but be wary of running out of ammo. Make sure to pick your shots and you’ll have a shot at grabbing a victory royale.

How to defeat The Foundation boss in Fortnite & get Mythic MK-Seven Epic GamesThe Foundation is a new boss fight in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1, but he won’t go down without a fight. This guide contains tips and the best weapons to use to defeat him – and get that Mythic weapon! Chapter 3 Season 1 has officially begun in Fortnite, and Epic Games have introduced loads of features including a ‘flipped’ Island to explore, a long-awaited Spider-Man crossover, and a bunch of new weapons. As always, a brand new map means a powerful new boss fight, and this time players will be taking on The Foundation, who was recently revealed to be voiced by none other than Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Unlike previous boss fights, The Foundation isn’t hostile at first – he’s been a friend so far in the story, so that makes sense. But if you shoot him, he’ll go on the attack and won’t stop until one of you is defeated. Contents Where to find The Foundation boss in Fortnite You can find The Foundation roaming around The Sanctuary, which is a new POI to the east of the Chapter 3 Season 1 map. He never goes indoors, so keep searching along the paths and you’ll find him eventually. We’ve marked where we found The Foundation on the map below, but he won’t always be at that exact point. Be aware that other players will likely be landing here to fight The Foundation too, so proceed with caution. How to defeat The Foundation boss in Fortnite The Foundation isn’t hostile until you attack, but once you start a fight, you’ll quickly realize he has a lot of health to get through. As well as a powerful MK-Seven, he can summon rocks and throw them at you, which causes some serious damage. This location is also swarming with NPCs known as Seven Sentries who will join in the fight if they’re nearby. This makes The Foundation a very difficult boss who will be far easier to defeat in a squad or trio than by yourself. The best way to approach this boss is to get a medium-to-long-range weapon and shoot from higher ground at a distance. We’d recommend the new MK-Seven Assault Rifle, which has a red dot sight, or a classic Sniper Rifle. Another trick (shared by YouTuber Kanga) is to build up high, preferably with strong material like Metal, and use a Harpoon Gun to keep lifting The Foundation up then let him fall to deal a lot of drop damage. In summary, here’s how to defeat The Foundation in Fortnite: Head to The Sanctuary and stock up on some medium-to-long-range weapons. – Search for The Foundation roaming around The Sanctuary. – Shoot from afar to begin the battle. – Use the natural environment as cover or build walls to use as a defense. – Keep your distance to avoid receiving too much damage. – Land headshots with your Assault Rifles or Sniper Rifles for maximum damage. – Once you’ve defeated The Foundation, you’ll be able to pick up his Mythic MK-Seven Assault Rifle. While this isn’t as exciting as getting a brand new weapon or item (like Spider-Man’s Web-Shooters), it is a more powerful version of the MK-Seven, which is already one of the best weapons in Chapter 3. Unfortunately, they’re surrounded by a plethora of henchmen, and other players will be vying for that gear as well. If you’re landing on an island on the north side of the map called The Shark, you have a chance to get some of that loot yourself, at the expense of the NPC Skye and her henchmen. Skye is somewhat easier to find compared to some of the other bosses, and the amount of henchmen present appears to be less than average. The key to a successful Shark run is getting a weapon early and hopping down to the lowest level quickly. The Guardian of the Mountains Spire is located on the southeast side of the island, just to the north of Retail Row, appropriately enough, nestled high up in the mountains. Once you find her, though, you have to make sure you’re going into the fight with decent enough weapons and shields to take her out. While the first two parts are pretty simple, completing a certain amount of challenges and talking to three NPCs, the last part can be difficult. Glyph Master Raz and Spire Artifact location in Fortnite To get the skin, players need to find and defeat the Glyph Master Raz NPC on the map and pick up the Spire Artifact that he drops. Fans will have to go to The Spire, the point-of-interest found at the center of the map, to locate him. He’ll be roaming around the level right before the actual spire itself. He has more health and deals more damage than any other NPC that you can fight around the map, so you’ll have your work cut out for you. This means you’ll want high damage weapons and tons of ammo. Even with that, however, you’ll probably have a difficult time, so you might want to grab a teammate or two to help you. Once he’s defeated, he’ll drop the Spire Artifact. It’s very small and disappears very quickly so you’ll want to not waste any time once it appears. Fortnite Mythic Explosive Bow While Glyph Master Raz will drop a Spire Artifact, you’ll also want to pick up the Mythic Explosive Bow that he drops as well. This week, you’ll be finding Galactus’ Gatherers, and dealing damage to enemies with their remains. While this sounds complicated, especially if you don’t know what Gatherers are, we’re here to guide you through it, and make sure you get that XP reward. First off, you need to know what you’re looking for. Gatherers are the small drones that spawn with the massive Gorgers, which have appeared on the island to herald the impending arrival of Galactus and act as a way to protect the Gorger from your attack. When you break one of these drones, the remains will fall to the floor, allowing you to pick it up and use it as a weapon. It has two firing modes: a semi-automatic laser that fires short blasts, or one highly powerful blast that deals huge damage but will break the Gatherer’s remains. To complete this challenge, the easiest way isn’t to attack players, but attack the Gorgers with the remains, as the shots will count towards your challenge. Step-by-Step guide for dealing 10,000 damage with Gatherer remains When in the Battle Bus at the start of the match, look for the red beams of light shooting into the sky, and head to a Gorger location. – Once there, attack a Gorger with a weapon, and shoot the Gatherer drones that appear to protect it. – Pick up the broken remains of a Gatherer, and shoot the Gorgers until you have dealt 10,000 damage. – Once you receieve a notification saying the challenge is complete, you can move on and receive your XP reward. – You may need a few of the Gatherer’s remains to do it, as 10,000 damage is a pretty big target, but you should be able to finish it fairly easily, as long as nobody else lands around you and attempts the same thing. Unfortunately, there’s no exact location that we can advise you to head to when you’re undertaking this challenge as the Gorger spawns are randomized, but keep an eye out for red beams of light shooting into the sky when you’re in the Battle Bus, as these mark where they have appeared in your match. While it may sound difficult, it’s well worth taking this task on, as the 50,000 XP reward will give you a huge boost as you rank up your Season 4 Battle Pass. While the other Week 9 challenges are fairly straight forward, the dancing challenge will require a bit more time an effort, as you will need to navigate to various points of interest on the map. There’s also more challenges too as the new Endgame LTM has arrived, and features its own specific set of challenges to work through. As a staged challenge, there are three parts in total to the dancing, with each stage earning you a battle star. Stage 1 – ‘Dance between three ice sculptures’ location Unsurprisingly, you will need to head to snowy biome in the southwest of the battle royale map to find the ice sculptures. Just west of Polar Peak, you will find a collection of trees, and the three frozen legends skins, posing majestically. 800Stage 2 – ‘Dance between three dinosaurs’ location For stage two, you’ll need to swap sides and head for the desert biome near Paradise Palms, on the southeast of the map. Here you find the three dinosaurs, which are placed on opposing sides of the main road that runs through the desert area of the map. 800Stage 3 – ‘Dance between four hot springs’ location Finally, the third stage requires you to find four hot springs and boogie down centrally between them. If you have just got the first two stages completed, you are in for a long journey for the final step. You will need to head all the way north on the map, as these hot springs are the result of the new volcano added for Season 8. Just west of Risky Reels you will find the four springs in question. 800Once you’ve danced between the hot springs, that will complete the third stage of the challenge – but remember, you will need to do them in order, as each stage is only unlocked after the prior is complete.

There’s not much in the way of loot here, so you might want to stock up on weapons elsewhere first. Originally uploaded to Reddit by ‘Vercyx’, this exploit will allow players to place down traps that have significantly more health than a regular trap, making them extremely difficult to destroy. The trick obviously requires the player to have a trap item, and you will also need to find one of the new Mounted Turrets, which were added to the battle royale title during the V6.30 update to the game. Once you have found the perfect spot, place your trap on the roof, then make your away to the other side of the panel, and place down the Mounted Turret directly above the trap. When placed, the Mounted Turret reinforces the floor piece it is sitting on, giving it 5000 health points against damage. Instead of destroying the spike trap underneath it when placed, it seems that the health benefit actually applies to the trap too, making it just as strong as the base of the Mounted Turret. The Mounted Turrets have only just been added to Fortnite, but some players already believe that the item is too powerful. Their well-timed and well-placed shotgun headshot deals an impressive 160 damage, and instantly downed their opponent, while Fire4Success only took a fraction of that damage from the initial lightsaber swing. But other users were quick to work out that this strategy wouldn’t be ideal against an opponent with full shields and full health, as they would just continue their flurry and down you. But rest easy, young Padawan, for your mind is your greatest weapon. Put up walls Putting up barriers isn’t just a way of asserting dominance in an office or keeping toddlers out of the kitchen, it’s a proper way of dealing with a lightsaber-wielding enemy. It’s a similar practice to just using a shotgun normally, but with the added benefit of not being hit with a lightsaber, and getting more time to line up a shot on the head as they try to break down the walls. This is a more ideal strategy for players who don’t have a health advantage compared to the player with a lightsaber. The saber does 45 damage during each of the first two swings, 20 on the spin, and then a massive 150 on the final flourish. If your health won’t let you survive past even the first two, the wall method might be preferable. Let it snow As the Star Wars and the Winterfest events cross over, a new strategy emerged, and it’s as simple as burying your opponent with a massive snowball. The snowball is one of the few weapons that lightsabers cannot block against, and has been established in the first week of Winterfest as one of the most broken weapons to use when it comes to its raw damage output. Couple the snowballs with the Snowman exploit, and Frosty the Snowman goes from the subject of a children’s Christmas carol to an unstoppable Jedi slaughtering machine capable of regeneration. If none of these strategies float your boat, you may get lucky and find a player who wishes to pursue an honorable duel.

How to counter a player in a 1×1 turtle in Fortnite Battle Royale A clever player has demonstrated a way to counter players who use the 1×1 turtling technique in Fortnite Battle Royale. Turtling is when a player builds a square box, generally one wall wide with a roof, and hides in it while they attempt to heal or reload their weapons. YouTuber MarcosGonzalezTV explains that usually when players come across enemies who have boxed themselves up, they will typically start shooting out one of the walls in an attempt to get at their enemy. When this happens, enemy players will simply build a ramp, and start rebuilding the wall through the ramp at high speed, meaning the offensive player is unable to breach the box and attack. Gonzalez, however, has found a clever trick that stops enemy players from being able to build the ramp in the first place. By walking up to the wall, players are able to place a pyramid piece down on the floor of the box, immediately blocking the space for a ramp. All players need to do then is break down the wall and take on their adversary, with their enemy left defenseless and unable to build to protect themselves. Recently, FaZe Clan member Tfue showed off a new building technique called snaking, while NickEh30 revealed what he believes is the quickest way to build a 1×1 turtle box. Since Fortnite’s release in 2017, building has become a hugely important part of the game. Unlike anything Fortnite has ever done in the past, the LEGO mode will have resource gathering, building, health, and outside forces to fend off against. The LEGO mode will also include mining, crafting, and more. With the entire game mode being completely LEGO-based, Fortnite has plans to extend the ‘bricked’ theme with its skins too. Players can still select their skins like they would in any other Fortnite game mode. But this time, the skins will be turned into LEGO figures. How to get LEGO versions of Fortnite skins Fortnite’s LEGO mode is not officially released until December 7, which gives players time to get familiar with the new season of Chapter 5. In that time, Fortnite will be rolling out LEGO figure versions of their skins for players to equip while playing the new mode. “LEGO Styles for Outfits you already own will be in your Locker automatically at no additional cost,” said Epic Games. “The same applies to a number of existing Emotes you can use with the LEGO Styles of your Outfits.” Look for the LEGO style option on the outfit’s detail page in the shop or your locker. Keep an eye out, as new LEGO styles are constantly added to the game. Additionally, check your locker periodically to see if your existing LEGO outfits have received a detailed upgrade. Not all skins will be receiving LEGO versions, however. Epic Games released a hold on certain cosmetics in Fortnite that are not considered appropriate for an “E for Everyone” audience in anticipation of this LEGO collaboration. How to consistently take less fall damage in Fortnite Battle Royale There’s nothing worse in Fortnite than being in the middle of a build battle – creating structures high into the sky, only for your opponent to shoot out one of your building pieces, causing you to fall to your death. However, YouTube channel ‘TheGamerCouple’ may have found a way to massively reduce fall damage when crashing down from a great height. It seems that if you place a ramp on the surface you’re about to land on, then quickly place a pyramid piece on top of it, the damage you take can be reduced by up to 75% compared to falling straight onto the ground. After performing numerous tests, TheGamerCouple were able to figure out exactly what damage players would take falling from different heights, and used different building pieces to show that the ramp and pyramid pieces were the best. The readings show that falling onto a pyramid on top of a ramp reduces damage by at least 66% from five or six story drops, while this method was the only way to survive a drop from a height of seven stories. For example, falling from five stories onto a flat surface dealt 49 damage, while falling onto the pyramid on a ramp took just 12 damage points from your health. This idea is yet another example of Fortnite players and their incredible creativity. Week 5 – ‘Locate a Mutant Containment Truck’ The Mutant Containment Truck has finally been added to Fortnite for Wolverine’s Week 5 challenges. This new task will require players to simply locate it on the north side of the map. The Trask Transport Truck landmark can be found northeast of Coral Castle and southeast of Lockie Lighthouse. The Truck will be sitting a piece of rock that has introduced in the latest map changes. Week 6 – ‘Defeat Wolverine’ The last challenge in the set requires you to defeat the Wolverine boss and it will finally grant you access to the Wolverine skin when completed, once it goes live on October 1. It would help to have a whole squad ready to take down the clawed superhero, as by far one of the most difficult bosses to kill by yourself, however, it can still be done. Once you grab your gear to defeat him, you will need to track the Marvel hero down deep within the Weeping Woods POI or on the outskirts of Slurpy Swamp. Once you get the new Fortnite skin, you’ll be able to get a few more cosmetic items with additional Wolverine challenges such as dealing damage with his superhero ability or regenerating health. In the water, no matter where you are, there is a threat though. Sharks can be seen circling around the world and you’re not actually always safe by being on land. When they strike, they bite hard and they come at you quickly, so preparation is key. In Fortnite Season 4, Chapter 2 there was a new item added to the game that makes sharks absolutely useless. If you can get ahold of it and use it right, your shark problem won’t be an issue any more. How to stop shark attacks in Fortnite These swimming carnivores might be hidden in the water, but you will soon know if one is hungry. They can attack in a matter of seconds, so be prepared whenever you’re near the water. The community initially expected these challenges to be related to the race track but it turns out that the time trials actually involve finding a hologram of a stopwatch in various locations. Once you find a stopwatch you’ll need to activate it – this will cause more markers to appear and you’ll need to jump and build your way to each one before time runs out. Each time trial requires you to reach eight markers in total, and a total of five trials need to completed to finish the challenge. All of the known time trial locations can be seen on the map below: With so many checkpoints to reach in each time trial, do not expect to complete all five trials in one match! How to Complete the “Search Where the Stone Heads are Looking” Fortnite Challenge for Week 6 of Season 5 One of the more confusing Fortnite Battle Royale challenges for Week 6 of Season 5 requires players to “search where the Stone Heads are looking”. To complete the task, you’ll need to locate the various Stone Heads dotted around the map and work out where their lines of sight converge on the map. Or you could save yourself the time and effort involved in doing that and look at this guide which does all of the work for you. The Stone Heads are looking towards a hill slightly southwest of Salty Springs and the position of the Battle Pass star can be seen below: If you’re still struggling, HyperClips – Fortnite on YouTube has uploaded a video tutorial which can be found below. As this challenge is classed as “HARD”, you’ll get twice as much XP for completing it compared to normal challenges. It is also a free challenge so players that don’t own a Battle Pass will still be able to complete it. Completing challenges is the quickest and easiest way of levelling up through the various tiers associated with Season 5. Players can unlock a plethora of skins, items and other cosmetics as a reward for levelling up.

How to complete the ‘Slide an Ice Puck over 150m in a single throw’ Fortnite challenge One of the leaked Season 7, Week 6 Fortnite challenges that is sure to confuse some players asks you to ‘Slide an Ice Puck over 150m in a single throw’. Now, assuming nothing changes when the challenges go live on January 10, the big catch with this challenge is that you will need to be at least level 28 in the Season 7 Battle Pass. If you haven’t reached level 28 yet, you won’t have gained access to the Ice Puck. This means you won’t be able to equip it in your emote wheel and throw it for the challenge (unless the developers do something sneaky). If you’re not level 28 yet, we’d advise you to go back and complete challenges from previous weeks. Challenges are the easiest way to level up through the various tiers. You can find our Week 5 challenge guides here. If you’re one of the players that has already unlocked the Ice Puck, all you need to do is equip it to your emote wheel and find a location to throw it from. We’d advise you to get to the top of large slope in the snow biome so the 150 meters won’t be a problem. We’d advise the ski slopes near Frosty Flights. Once you’ve found your spot, all you need to do is throw the puck using your emote wheel or keybind. If the puck travels 150 meters or more, you will have completed the challenge and earned five Battle Stars. As always, we would advise you to complete the game before returning to the lobby. If you throw your puck and leave the game before being eliminated, or getting the victory royale, your challenge progress might not be saved. The Battle Pass star can be found in the south-east corner of the map, just to the south-west of the recently added Paradise Palms. To complete the challenge, all you need to do is land at the location marked on the map below and collect the star. How to complete the ‘Search Chilly Gnomes’ Fortnite challenge – Locations and guide One of the more interesting challenges for Week 6 of Season 7 in Fortnite Battle Royale requires players to ‘search Chilly Gnomes’ that can now be found around the map. The official challenges went live on Thursday, January 10, and include everything from dealing damage with different weapons to throwing an Ice Puck 150 meters or more. In this guide, though, we’ll be concentrating on Chilly Gnomes. The task is simple – locate seven Chilly Gnomes and ‘search’ them, which basically means you have to interact with it like you would with a chest or supply drop. The only really tricky part is finding the Chilly Gnomes in the first place. They’re well hidden and could easily be missed if you don’t know what you’re looking for. Once you’re close enough, though, you should hear a giggling noise that makes their position easier to pinpoint. With that in mind, we’ve put together a map of all the Chilly Gnome locations that we’ve found and been made aware of so far. The map will be updated if we find more gnomes, but the locations shown are enough to get the job done. Here’s how it’s done. The sheet music challenge was one of our favorites from Season 6, but the Season 7 version is significantly easier than before because players are no longer required to actually find the sheet of music before heading to the giant keyboards on the ground. Let’s start with Pleasant Park because it’s the easier of the two. All you need to do is head to the location that we have marked on the map below and stand on the following notes in order: E, G, C, D, E Next up, you’ll want to head over to Lonely Lodge. The exact location of the piano is on the eastern edge of Lonely Lodge and the music that you’re required to play is significantly more complicated. In fact, there are so many notes that you’ll struggle to get this challenge out of the way if there are any opponents nearby. We’d advise trying to visit the piano during the late stages of a match. The exact location is marked on the map below and the notes that you’ll need to play are as follows: C, C, C F, F, F, E, F, G, A, A#, G, A As you’ll see, both tunes are from classic Christmas songs so this challenge is sure to get you in a festive mood. As always, make sure you don’t return to the lobby until you’ve been eliminated or have won the match. Leaving the game early could result in you losing your challenge progression.

How to complete the Prism Apparatus secret quest in Fortnite Epic GamesThe latest season of Fortnite has a hidden task for island explorers, but only a select few players know about it. You must deliver a Prism to The Apparatus in order to complete it, so here’s a guide to help you figure out what to do. Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 has arrived, bringing with it the WILDS jungle biome, which is full of interesting new features like rideable raptors and grind vines. It also includes three additional POIs that are well worth visiting. Players were also given a series of quests that serve to familiarize them with the new features and reward them with plenty of XP to help them advance through their Battle Pass more quickly. While they are readily apparent on the Quests tab of the menu and can be easily navigated, there are a number of hidden quests that may be obtained by interacting with a certain hidden item on the island. One such quest requires players to bring a Prism to Trace at The Apparatus. Here’s how you can easily discover and complete the quest in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3. Discover and bring the Prism to Trace at The Apparatus in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 This season of Fortnite puts IO Agent Slone back into the canon as she searches for the Kinetic Ore to build a portal on the island. She needs a reliable power source capable of supporting the construction of a portal to an alternate universe. The Prism, which holds the Kinetic Ore’s abilities, is a hidden item that can be found on the surface of the Fortnite island. One of the Explorer Quests requires players to take it to the new NPC Trace at The Apparatus so that he can learn more about the Prism’s abilities. Go to the spot highlighted on the map up top, and from there, make your way to the Prism on a pedestal that sits just outside a Ruins’ main entrance. In order to interact with the Prism, you must approach it. You’ll be given a hidden Explorer Quest to deliver the item to Trace at The Apparatus once you do this. Getting here is as simple as climbing the steps that can be found immediately outside the Ruins cave’s exit. On the rooftop, you can spot Trace as he freely explores the surroundings. You can talk to the NPC if you walk over to him. You’ll be prompted to Hand over Prism to Trace, and once you do so, the explorer mission will be marked as complete in your quest log. Unexpectedly, once you complete the hidden quest, you will gain 20,000 XP. Down the stairs, however, you will find a secret audio log recorded by Slone, which has additional information on the Prism. Play it to hear Slone explain why she’s so interested in the Prism in her own words. Players are intrigued by Slone’s return to the island and the IO’s anticipated return to the loop, even if the season’s lore has not yet been revealed in full. Here’s what you’ll need to complete the Beskar Armor challenges and unlock each of the skin styles available. After the highly anticipated battle between Galactus and the Marvel heroes in Season 4’s Nexus War, Epic Games has revealed a new batch of characters that players can unlock in the Season 5 battle pass. One of the most notable characters in the new Fortnite season is “Din Djarin” or The Mandalorian from Star Wars’ hit TV show on Disney+ and he comes with many skin styles that can be unlocked through completing challenges. The Mandalorian makes use of Beskar Steel to improve his armor in the TV Series, and it is no different in Fortnite. For these challenges, you will need to find or earn eight pieces of Beskar to unlock the new skin styles. Fortnite Season 5 The Mandalorian Battle Pass challenges Right Shoulder Piece – Visit the Razor Crest The first of the Beskar Steel challenges is fairly straightforward, as it simply requires you to visit a new Season 5 point-of-interest where The Mandalorian’s ship is located. The Razor Crest can be found north of Lazy Lake and it will be just southeast of the new Colossal Coliseum POI. If you have not revealed this area in Season 5, it will be marked with “???” on your map. To complete this challenge, you will simply need to climb on top of the Razor Crest and you should be rewarded with The Mandalorian’s Right Shoulder Beskar Piece. Left Shoulder Piece – Earn Weapon Specialist Accolades To unlock the Left Shoulder Piece of The Mandalorian’s armor, players will need to “Earn Weapon Specialist Accolades” in Fortnite Season 5. Weapon Specialist Accolades are small challenges that require players to pick up kills or deal a certain amount of damage, in a single match, with the weapons in Fortnite. For this piece of Beskar Steel, you’ll need to finish five of these Weapon Specialist Accolades in total to get The Mandalorian’s Left Shoulder Piece. These accolades are often earned by playing Fortnite naturally, but you can speed things up by hopping into a Team Rumble match and dealing 150 damage with each weapon class.a Left Thigh Piece – Find Beskar Steel deep in the belly of the Shark For the Left Thigh Piece of Mando’s Beskar armor, Fortnite players will need to return to Season 2’s “The Shark” POI, which is now an unnamed location above Coral Castle. Once you land at the flooded facility, you will need to find the Vault that has been cracked open, which was previously guarded by Skye and Henchmen in Season 3. After reaching the Vault, you will need to look inside the door and you should find a piece of Beskar sitting on the shelf to your left. Left Bracer – Find Beskar Steel where the Earth Meets the Sky The fourth piece of Beskar for The Mandalorian’s alternative skin style can be found on the highest mountain in Fortnite, Mount Kay, which is in the southeast corner of the map. Just south of the Catty Corner POI, players will need to climb to the summit of Mount Kay and search the chest near the flag pole. It is worth noting that, as this Chest comes with an ID scanner, you will only be able to collect the piece of Beskar if you have The Mandalorian battle pass skin equipped. As of now, there are still some Beskar Steel challenges that have yet to be revealed, but we will be sure to update you with more ways to unlock The Mandalorian’s armor when they are released.
