Fortnite: New leaks of ‘Nautilus’ underwater cosmetic items hint at possible ocean theme New cosmetic items have been leaked in Fortnite Battle Royale that have players wondering if the game is shifting its focus to the oceans. The new items are part of a set called ‘Nautilus,’ which is likely a reference to the marine mollusk of the same name. In nature, the nautilus belongs to the same genetic family as more commonly known underwater creatures such as squids and octopuses. As of now, 3D renders of only two cosmetic items from the set have been leaked – the glider and pickaxe – although no additional information, such as the items’ names, rarities, and prices, are available. The leaks are courtesy of the Fortnite cosmetic item database known as Skin-Tracker, who originally posted them on Sketchfab to render them as 3D images. Although the pickaxe is void of color, it would likely be safe to assume that its outer finish would feature the same metallic bronze and gold theme of the glider. At first glance at both of the items, it’s clear that they are visual references of underwater creatures, more specifically of the cephalopod family mentioned above. However, despite the oceanic connections, players have also been theorizing that the pickaxe could be somehow connected to the monstrous mythical beast known as Cthulhu, a fictional cosmetic entity created by writer H.P. Lovecraft in the late 1920s. You can be the judge for yourself by comparing the image of Cthulhu below with the 3D render of the pickaxe above. The items that come to mind are those of the Fish Food Gear, which were just released on December 27, and the sinister looking octopus banner for level 84 of the Battle Pass. Considering how much ocean-related content has surfaced over the past few days (no pun intended), it would seem that Fortnite is gearing towards an underwater experience in the coming weeks.

Fortnite’s New Ghost Peeking Fix Doesn’t Work With Some Skins – Dexerto
Fortnite’s New Ghost Peeking Fix Doesn’t Work With Some Skins Fortnite’s recent “Ghost Peeking” fix has resulted in some skins, or outfits, blocking the vision and crosshair for players. The issue has been highlighted by a number of community members, including Gozumir and Grass—Tastes_Bad on Reddit. In a post titled “Current ADS state is terrible”, Gozumir stated “For those who have yet to notice, your character eats up the left half of your screen, going as far as obstructing your own crosshair for certain skin (hello cuddle team leader), making it extremely difficult to properly aim.” Grass—Tastes_Bad’s post highlights the issue by showing an image of him using the “Cuddle Team Leader” skin, with the ear covering the middle of the screen and his crosshair. One of the responses to the image is simply “Ghost peeking was a serious problem, but they fixed it by adding a whole new problem.” https://www.reddit.com/r/FortNiteBR/comments/920e7v/ghost_peeking_patch_is_blocking_vision_and_the/ The Ghost Peeking fix was implemented as part of the V5.10 update and was supposed to stop you from being able to shoot an opponent over a ramp without them being able to see you. This was happening due to Fortnite’s animation system making adjustments to the feet of a character so that they were always positioned well. The fix seems to have had the desired effect in terms of “Ghost Peeking”, but it has clearly come with some issues of its own. With posts already making it to the top of /r/FortniteBR, Epic Games is sure to see the outfit glitch and implement a fix in the near future.

Fortnite: New Durr Burger consumable could be coming soon, according to updated leaks – Dexerto
Fortnite: New Durr Burger consumable could be coming soon, according to updated leaks It appears that the next consumable to be added to Fortnite Battle Royale will be the famous Durr Burger itself. This week’s launch of Season 7 in Fortnite has added a multitude of new locations and items into the game, but data miners have been hard at work scouring through game files to find any upcoming content that may not have been released yet. Their search has led them to the discover of a burger consumable that is named after the iconic in-game fast food restaurant called Durr Burger. Other than the name, no other details have been revealed as to its function or specifications, but there a rendered image of it has been found in the game files. This leaks comes courtesy of @FortTory, a trusted Fortnite news and leaks outlet on Twitter. DurrBurgerPickup got updated! pic.twitter.com/8KCojeveJQ — FortTory – Fortnite Leaks (@FortTory) December 6, 2018 This is not the first time that a Durr Burger consumable has been found in game files and subsequently leaked. Back in May, data miners discovered the same consumable and predicted that it would be released sometime during Season 4. However, that turned out to not be the case, and in fact, the consumable was never seen again, which prompted many to either chalk it up as a failed concept from Epic Games or simply forget that the item was ever even leaked. But now it’s back, and it’s even received an update in term of its visuals, which could mean that the developers may have re-ignited their efforts and are interested in finally adding the consumable into the game. A Durr Burger consumable would make sense on various fronts; not only is the item itself a common type of food, the brand is one of the most iconic in the history of Fortnite. Originally a restaurant that famously stood in the location formerly known as Greasy Grove, the Durr Burger sign was sucked out of the game at one point, only to reappear in a real-life California desert, as part of Epic’s alternate reality game tease for Season 5. The brand eventually transformed into a food truck and its mascot Beef Boss waged war against Tomatohead and its Pizza Pit in the famous Food Fight story-line from Season 6. With Greasy Grove now fully covered with snow, and the Food Fight seemingly having been settled, the perfect way to carry out the Durr Burger legacy would be to turn it into an interactive item in-game.

Fortnite nerfs OP Mythic Nitro Cars but not how players wanted – Dexerto
Fortnite nerfs OP Mythic Nitro Cars but not how players wanted Dexerto/Epic GamesFortnite Chapter 5 Season 3’s first hotfix nerfs the invincibility of Mythic Nitro Cars running chaos around the island, unfortunately, it’s not how players wanted it to be. Here’s how the hotfix affects these OP vehicles. The latest Fortnite season has been heavily criticized by pros with the likes of Ninja and Clix, who’ve got some heavy words for the devs. Not only those, but casual players are terrified of the modded Nitro Cars ruining the gameplay for them. The terror of these Mythic Nitro Cars and their invincibility is something players have spoken about on several social media conversations and have suggested methods to counter vehicles in Season 3. On the other hand, several have requested Epic to nerf them. Finally, in a hotfix on May 28, Epic nerfed the invincibility of these Mythic boss vehicles, but only in one aspect. Earlier, the mythic cars locked behind a cage at boss POIs were invincible. This meant a player wasn’t able to destroy them while they were locked inside. Players wouldn’t have been able to damage the locked vehicles from outside the cage – until now. With the hotfix nerf, players who are at a boss POI can damage the car by simply hitting it with their pickaxe while standing closer to the cage. While this isn’t something players were worried about, they’d rather have Epic nerf the overall damage of turrets mounted on the car and its overall speed and health. One such player asked, “How is that a good thing?” Another chimed in, “We want EMPs to save the season still.” A third one wrote, “Now they need to fix the rest of it.” A fourth said, “That’s just dumb. The players need to adapt and evolve in the game not take away the best mythic cars.” Players this season have been extremely critical about Fortnite’s approach where vehicles, instead of weapons are meta for the first time. Although there are rumored weapons that are slated to appear in future updates, players are still offering Epic their own suggestions of unvaulting popular weapons from past seasons.

New Fortnite Naruto skins leaked ahead of Rivals crossover event – Dexerto
New Fortnite Naruto skins leaked ahead of Rivals crossover event Skins for the upcoming Naruto Rivals event in Fortnite have leaked online just days ahead of the crossover’s official release. The first batch of Fortnite x Naruto content went live in November 2021, introducing several beloved characters from the Naruto Shippuden anime series to the world of Fortnite. Naruto Uzumaki and the other members of Team 7 – Kakashi Hatake, Sakura Haruno, and Sasuke Uchiha – all appeared as playable characters who came with special items, outfits, and emotes. Recently, Epic Games confirmed that yet another Naruto event is on the horizon, with Naruto Rivals scheduled to arrive on June 23. Leaked skins for Fortnite’s Naruto Rivals crossover surface While Epic remains mum about which Naruto characters will feature in the forthcoming event, several skins have prematurely hit the web. Akin to leaks regarding the November 2021 crossover, images of the new Fortnite x Naruto skins were spotted on a Japanese magazine cover. Content creator GranbeFN and Twitter user pepitochiken discovered the cover in question, which Shiina later reposted on their page. The magazine art depicts Naruto characters Hinata, Gara, Itachi, and Orochimaru standing side-by-side, the Fortnite x Naruto logo positioned right in front. RUMOR: First look at the new Naruto skins! This was apparently spotted in a Japanese magazine, same happened with the first Naruto collab! (via @GranbeFN & @pepitochiken) pic.twitter.com/KLCm78eXAQ — Shiina (@ShiinaBR) June 16, 2022 A subsequent post from Fortnite insider Shiina adds further credence to the rumor, as the Twitter user notes that Fortnite content creator and Epic partner MidaRado confirmed the veracity of the Itachi and Hinata skins. Independent of yesterday’s magazine leak, the “”Itachi”” and “”Hinata”” skins have been confirmed to me by @MidaRado, who has reliable insider information. If anyone had doubts that the image of the new Naruto skins is real, this is your confirmation. pic.twitter.com/bQEESyJCPX — Shiina (@ShiinaBR) June 16, 2022 At the time of writing, Epic Games has yet to address the imagery making the rounds. And precedent suggests the publisher won’t say a word until it’s ready to actually share details. Fortunately, those looking forward to Fortnite’s Naruto Rivals skins will not have to wait too much longer for concrete information. Epic plans to deploy the crossover event on Thursday, June 23.

Fortnite glitch lets players claim Mythic Nitro Cars without Medallions – Dexerto
Fortnite glitch lets players claim Mythic Nitro Cars without Medallions Epic GamesFortnite players found a glitch that unlocks access to Mythic Nitro Cars without recovering Medallions from defeated NPC bosses. The advent of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 introduced Mythic Cars, rare, nitro-powered vehicles that players can only recover after beating certain boss characters. All three cars sit in locked cages scattered across the new Wasteland region. NPC bosses The Machinist, Megalo Don, and Ringmaster Scarr will drop a Medallion after being defeated. That Medallion then unlocks the cages housing each NPC’s respective ride. However, crafty Fortnite users have already found a way to easily access the Mythic Cars without possessing a Medallion. Not long after Season 3’s launch, TikTok user zeussfvv shared footage of a strange new glitch. If players walk up to a stored Mythic Car with a gas can in hand, they’re able to “jump and throw the gas can midair while holding [down the] mantle button.” This move mantles the character onto the gas can and phases them into the car’s cage. From there, the user should hide behind the car, wait for another player to defeat the boss, and then hop in the vehicle once the other person grabs the Medallion and unlocks the cage. Those interested in trying this should head to one of three Fortnite Mythic Cars as soon as they drop onto the Island. The Machinist’s Lockjaw ride is locked inside of a Redline Rig garage, Megalo Don’s Behemoth SUV sits in a building near Brutal Beachhead, and a cage beneath the Nitrodrome stows Ringmaster Scarr’s Lockjaw. However, it’s worth remembering that the Behemoth SUV and Lockjaw have a chance to randomly spawn alongside the Wasteland Warriors convoy. As such, one of these vehicles may travel around the map with Season 3’s War Bus.

Fortnite: Myth wins $5k prize after his fall damage clip from WSOE 3 goes viral – Dexerto
Fortnite: Myth wins $5k prize after his fall damage clip from WSOE 3 goes viral Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani has been awarded a $5,000 cash prize after a clip of him being knocked out of the first of six rounds at the WSOE 3 event went viral. The professional Fortnite Battle Royale player was eliminated alongside his partner Karman ‘Kaysid’ Sidhu, after some strange fall damage from a Quadcrasher jump caused the duo some massive problems. Despite the fact that the pair had been knocked out the first of six rounds of the $100,000 Fortnite LAN event, in such bizarre circumstances, a video of their deaths was the most popular clipped moment and a cash prize was awarded for that achievement. The clip below shows the entire play, with Myth dropping from the vehicle near a mountain top, where he was shocked to find that he had been knocked by a very short fall. Read More: Ceice and Elevate win $100,000 WSOE Fortnite Event Soon after, his teammate built a wooden structure around Myth in an attempt to revive him, but an X-4 Stormwing plane came swooping in and crashed into the structure, exposing the pair who were then eliminated by other players. This is not the first time that Myth has been eliminated from an event due to fall damage, however, and that’s perhaps one of the reasons why his recent death has gained so much traction. Before the event, Myth was questioned on the arrival of the new Boombox item on Fortnite. “Epic is trolling,” the popular streamer joked. “I’m going to abuse the living hell out it. So like, if we get Boom Boxes and if i see any team, I’m just going to throw all three of them on them and wish them a happy tournament.” Read More: Fortnite pro at 100k WSOE event says a Boombox is better than aim While Myth might have been expecting to die from one of these new items, little did he know that a fall damage glitch would cost them in the end. Or, that the viral clip of their deaths would be the reason for a cash win.

Fortnite: Mysterious Dragon Egg under Polar Peaks found in leak *UPDATED* – Dexerto
Fortnite: Mysterious Dragon Egg under Polar Peaks found in leak *UPDATED* Fortnite leaks have been pouring out on December 18, following the v7.10 update, as data miners continue to dig through the game files – this time uncovering what appears to be a dragon egg. Despite Epic Games’ best efforts, leakers are not backing down and continue to share as yet unreleased content online, even after Epic took legal action against one particular leaks website. With every update, Epic Games also adds new files to Fortnite, which, with some technical savvy, can be investigated to see what is coming soon. Such leaks in the past have uncovered in-game live events, new skins and cosmetics and even the Infinity Blade sword, all before they go live in the game. Perhaps the most bizarre and intriguing leak yet however, is this new discovery of five Dragon Eggs, which have been found buried under the castle at Polar Peaks – currently covered in ice and snow. The leak comes via FortTroy, who shared an image of both the egg mesh file, and a blurry silhouette of what is inside – which certainly looks like a baby dragon. When staring at the eggs, you can see the shape of the dragon from the previous leak inside the egg, indicating that there is likely one of these beasts inside it ready to hatch in the near future. It’s unclear where a dragon would fit into the Season 7 lore, however the recent Infinity Blade could be a big clue. The mobile game, developed by Epic Games, called Infinity Blade, also featured dragons. So, if the Fortnite team is continuing to borrow some of the lore from the Infinity Blade series, dragons make a lot of sense. However, after lots of backlash from players that the Infinity Blade was too powerful and dominated the game, Epic apologized and removed it, and said they would rethink their approach to mything weapons. Although exciting, the last thing anyone wants is an all powerful dragon which comes in and replaces the Infinity Blade.

Fortnite: Mysterious dragon eggs have returned in surprising location – Dexerto
Fortnite: Mysterious dragon eggs have returned in surprising location Epic GamesThe mysterious Dragon Eggs that were discovered in Fortnite Season 7 have re-appeared in Season 8. However, one of the locations is now slightly different from where they had initially been discovered. The eggs were originally found right at the start of Season 7, buried deep in the snow and ice which was locked around the castle, but as it began to melt, the eggs became visible in-game. Many fans initially speculated that the eggs would, in some way, be related to dragons during the previous season, but that was never confirmed – as they went missing towards the backend of Season 7. Now, it appears like they will have something to do with dragons anyway, just a season later than originally thought. One of the eggs is now located within the Volcano – some distance away from the castle upon Polar Peak. A noticeable change on the egg is that the Dragon-like symbol that could be made out during last season, has become quite clearly displayed. While no one is quite sure how it got there, it looks likely that whatever is set to happen from with the eggs has now begun. One of the eggs is located in the Volcano #Fortnite pic.twitter.com/oJhliUKFkG — Fortnite News :snowflake:️ (@FNBRHQ) February 28, 2019 Prior to the start of Season 8, Fortnite’s worldwide creative director, Donald Mustard, tweeted the second of the four teaser images for the new season with an egg emoji as his reaction. That prompted more speculation from fans as to what the mysterious eggs might just mean. Then, only a day later, the third teaser image all but confirmed that dragons would be making some sort of appearance – as the teasing tweet referred to a ‘beast of fire and ash,’ which also alluded to the new Volcano. Awaken beasts Of fire and ash Battle it out And loot the stash. 2 days to Season 8. pic.twitter.com/rdMrhYbZ1S— Fortnite (@FortniteGame) February 26, 2019 However, the locations of the other two eggs have not yet been discovered. Keep your eyes locked to Dexerto for all the Fortnite breaking news and updates about Season 8, as we’ll be sure to monitor this situation very closely.

Fortnite players blast speed-reducing movement issues for feeling “atrocious” – Dexerto
Fortnite players blast speed-reducing movement issues for feeling “atrocious” Epic GamesFortnite players can’t decide if the game’s speed-reducing movement troubles constitute a bug or an unwelcomed feature. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time that problems with movement speed have surfaced in the popular online game. At the start of Season 5, Epic Games significantly tweaked movement pacing to accommodate new character animations. Fortnite players were livid. In response to the widespread backlash, the studio increased movement speed late in 2023. It seems these changes weren’t necessarily permanent, though. Players have encountered more instances of reduced speed, leading some to wonder if the system as a whole is bugged. Fortnite’s movement problems: Feature or bug? “Let me just say [the] speed-reducing feature is atrocious,” wrote a user on Reddit whose post was accompanied by a clip demonstrating the issue. The Redditor added that the game forcibly slows players down for going too fast when sliding. “It feels so jittery and rough. I wish the speed-reducing feature just didn’t even exist,” they continued. While probably not the intention, the user’s post opened a can of worms on the Fortnite subreddit. That the original poster repeatedly called Fortnite’s movement issue a “feature” sparked a debate, with players going back and forth about whether or not the slowed movement is purposeful. One confused Redditor asked if the slow-down issue constitutes a feature, to which someone else replied with the following: “It’s not lag or a feature it’s a bug and a very annoying one because it stops you from running normally the whole game unless you can get rebooted.” Elsewhere, someone else shared their two cents by noting, “I can’t tell if it’s a bug or a feature. I can’t consistently do it.” Others said this particular hiccup may only happen under certain circumstances and offered tips on possible solutions. “It happened to me after using one of those little jump pads. It fixed after I used another one, try also getting into a car.” Another Fortnite player shared this helpful tip: “This has been a glitch for a while now, but the new speed update made it even worse. Try crouching, then uncrouching, then start running. It normally works for me but other times it doesn’t.” Evidently, Fortnite faithful remain in the dark about what’s going on with the game’s movement system. But the consensus seems pretty clear – the community wants Epic to issue a fix as soon as possible.

Fortnite: Multiple v6.31 leaks appear to confirm a snow theme for Christmas – Dexerto
Fortnite: Multiple v6.31 leaks appear to confirm a snow theme for Christmas Epic GamesYet more evidence of Fortnite Battle Royale using a snow theme for Season 7 has been found following the release of the November 27 patch. The release of the v6.31 update saw shotguns getting some love from Epic Games, and even the addition of Epic and Legendary variants of the Pump Shotgun, but many fans are already setting their sights on what comes next. Week 10 of Season 6 is upon us, and Season 7 is expected to begin in early December, so speculation about a potential winter theme has been growing on an almost daily basis. With that in mind, it is probably unsurprising to hear that the November 27 patch included new files that relate to snow, the first of which were leaked by @FNBRLeaks on Twitter: @FortTroy.You have to look closely pic.twitter.com/g1Ze3tHnzD — Fortnite Kid Leaker – Fortnite Leaks (@AaronM973) November 27, 2018 FortTory found even more files, ranging from ‘Ice Fog’ and ‘Corrupt Rock Ice’ to. This likely means completing every single Most Wanted Quest. There are five sets of Most Wanted Quests and you can view them by visiting the Quests Menu. Fortnite PlayStation Store ad hints at future Morbius collaboration – Dexerto
Fortnite PlayStation Store ad hints at future Morbius collaboration Epic Games / Sony PicturesA recent Fortnite ad in the PlayStation Store is giving fans reason to believe an upcoming Morbius collaboration could be on the way, fueling memes and rumors of previous leaks. While Fortnite players can’t wait for it to be Morbin’ Time in the battle royale, Epic Games have yet to confirm an official crossover between its game and Marvel’s Living Vampire. That remains to be the case, but it seems as if some clues are tipping people off that Epic may be moving ahead with a Morbius Fortnite collection in some capacity. Aside from some in-game screenshots that have apparently been leaked, people have been spotting a Fortnite ad on PlayStation that seemingly takes some cues from the Morbius movie. The latest PlayStation Store signage for Fortnite has the game’s logo in front of what people believe to be a reference to the Morbius film. The same blue, hazy effect that can be throughout Morbius and its posters can be spotted in the recent Fortnite ad that makes people believe a crossover is in the cards. Though it’s not concrete, the post only fueled rumors of a Fortnite x Morbius crossover bundle of some sort, especially after apparent leaks showed off Michael Morbius donning his orange jumpsuit in the game. After multiple stints in theaters, people are hoping Fortnite can add to the meme-famous film’s legacy with what’s sure to be a popular in-game skin. Morbius coming to fortnite is the only thing I wanted to see before I die pic.twitter.com/xI2fL6OB0O — Toasted (@ToastedShoes) June 13, 2022 Of course, until Epic Games confirm any such promotion, people should take the leaks with a grain of salt. But the possibility gave Fortnite fans plenty of reasons to be excited, seeing as the potential to revive the infamous meme in the popular battle royale might not be too much of a stretch. Epic have had massive success porting other films into Fortnite before, and we’ll just have to wait and see if they move forward with a Morbius collab soon.

Fortnite: More leaks and audio files hint at snow coming for the winter season – Dexerto
Fortnite: More leaks and audio files hint at snow coming for the winter season @mitchgames247More and more leaks are being found on a daily basis that point to snow coming soon to the Fortnite Battle Royale map for the holiday season. While Epic Games are sure to add some themed decorations and items to the map as they did last winter, players are expecting them to also go above and beyond this time around. These theories and speculation have been fueled by numerous leaks and hints about snow, none more eye-catching than the large storm cloud that is floating over the map’s horizon. After the release of the v6.31 update on November 27, some have discovered that the cloud is emitting a distinct sound that can be heard when looked at directly. This is very reminiscent of the meteor from Season 4, which also made a sound that players could hear whenever they pointed their reticle at it. At that time, during Season 4, player analyzed the noise via a spectrograph, which revealed an image of the ‘Take the L’ emote dance. With this in mind, some decided to stick the storm cloud noise into a spectrograph, and low and behold, it revealed this image. If the logo at the center looks familiar, that’s because you may have seen it before on this season’s Hunting Party Skin called A.I.M., as well as the parachute which the character used to land on the map. This ties into and further supports the speculation that A.I.M. is somehow linked to the impending snowstorm, especially since its hands and feet appear to be frozen. This wouldn’t be the first time Epic have used the real world to send out clues about what may be coming to Fortnite; many will remember a real-life replica of the Durrr Burger appearing in a California desert right before the start of Season 5. While this tweet may have not been paid much attention to at the time, it makes a lot more sense when considered along with all of these other leaks and clues. On another note, Twitter user @IrishTekkers went into Playground to better analyze the storm cloud and icebergs approaching the map, and he discovered that there was some sort of structure stuck in the ice. There seems to be something on top like a building? pic.twitter.com/ufCJ4ve1nQ — jason breen :xmas_tree: (@IrishTekkers) November 27, 2018 All of this comes after more leaks were discovered right after the release of the v6.31 update, which added an effect to the way character’s breathed in-game. Close analysis of their breathing revealed a slight fog whenever a character exhales, which matches up with the ‘ColdBreath’ file found in game files. You have to look closely pic.twitter.com/g1Ze3tHnzD — Fortnite Kid Leaker – Fortnite Leaks (@AaronM973) November 27, 2018 While players are free to draw their conclusions from all of this, no one can know what’s coming for sure until Season 7 arrives, which is set to happen in the early days of December. Until then, keep the leaks coming!

Fortnite monthly subscription service reportedly leaked in survey – Dexerto
Fortnite monthly subscription service reportedly leaked in survey Epic GamesFortnite leakers have discovered that a monthly subscription service, dubbed the Monthly Crew Pack, is in the works after being referred to multiple times in an official Epic Games survey. [jwplayer uZppK6qI] Fortnite players have deliberated the idea of a monthly subscription service for several years now. Some think it would work better than a battle pass system, while others think two of them could run alongside each other quite well. And of course, there’s a portion who think it’s not needed at all. The debate all comes down to a balance of pros and cons. On the one hand, it could give players a more streamlined way to acquire and level up a battle bass each season and include some V-Bucks and exclusive cosmetics. On the other hand, it would more or less obligate Fortnite players to fork out more money to avoid missing out on a good deal. It seems like a monthly subscription service is happening regardless of what side of the fence you’re on. A Fortnite leaker named MarDlt_ discovered an image that reveals a monthly subscription service called the Monthly Crew Pack. He also discovered an official survey asking users what they think might be included in the monthly subscription. MarDlt_ shared these details with prominent leaker FireMonkey, who posted them on Twitter and provided more details. “In a recent survey Epic Games has sent out, this image can be seen,” he said. “With the image, users are being quizzed on how they would rate the monthly subscription service.” 🚨Fortnite “”Monthly Crew Pack”” Leak🚨 In a recent survey Epic Games has sent out, this image can be seen: With the image users are being quizzed on how they would rate the monthly subscription service. Survey was brought to my attention VIA: @MarDlt_ pic.twitter.com/daYouFMcVy — iFireMonkey (@iFireMonkey) November 7, 2020 Then, he explained the monthly subscription would include the following bits and pieces: Battle Pass – An outfit pack that subscribers get first and then will be sold in the shop later that includes a character outfit with an additional style, Back Bling, and a Pickaxe. – 1,000 V-Bucks each month – The survey also asked users how much they would be willing to pay for the monthly subscription service. Initially, it seemed like it would cost somewhere between $15.99 and $18.99. However, MarDlt_ chimed in and said, “Just in case anyone is interested, the price of the subscription is not confirmed to be 16 dollars. In the survey, it ranges from $4.99 up to $19.99!” https://twitter.com/mardlt_/status/1325182154750398465?s=21 All this information sparked the discussion once again. “The BP is really a great deal,” said one player. “It would be hard to compete with that. I believe a monthly subscription more than $9.99 which the value is purely based on cosmetics would be too much.” “Eh. Not sure I’m down to pay 45 dollars a season for a ten dollar pass and bundles I don’t even know if I’ll like,” wrote another. Either way, it seems like it’s only a matter of time before a monthly subscription service comes to fruition. It’s bound to be a hot-topic among Fortnite players in the upcoming weeks.

Fortnite Monopoly is Coming Soon and It’s More Than Just a Reskin – Release Date and Information – Dexerto
Fortnite Monopoly is Coming Soon and It’s More Than Just a Reskin – Release Date and Information Fortnite’s dominance over popular culture seems set to continue, as Epic Games have teamed up with Hasbro to release a battle royale inspired edition of Monopoly. Fortnite Monopoly is set to be available in major retailers globally from October 1. First spotted by Eurogamer, the game was initially rumoured to release on November 26, but Epic Games Creative Director Donald Mustard took to Twitter to confirm the earlier launch. The new edition features plenty of familiar places featured in Fortnite, like Tilted Towers and Dusty Divot, and uses character skins such as Carbide and Rex instead of classic Monopoly pieces. Instead of both dice being used to determine movement, one is now used to determine an action, such as healing using a bandage or attempting to take out an opponent. The storm also makes an appearance in the Monopoly version, as spaces on the board occupied by the storm will deal damage to any player who lands on them. It’s no surprise that Fortnite branded items are beginning to release, as the franchise has taken over the gaming industry over the past year. the game also has a massive, dedicated fan-base, so it makes sense that Hasbro would take this opportunity to work with the pop culture juggernaut. The Fortnite edition of Monopoly is rumoured to cost £26.99 ($35), but there has been no official price released for either the UK or US version of the game.

Fortnite: MonsterDFace shows off best location to land for amazing early-game loot – Dexerto
Fortnite: MonsterDFace shows off best location to land for amazing early-game loot Fortnite is hectic from the very beginning as players need to figure out the best place to drop to find a worthwhile place to collect good loot as they protect themselves from roaming opponents, luckily there’s a low-key, unmarked location that’s ripe with loot. The release of Fortnite’s Season 7 on December 6 brought with it snowy terrain and new points of interests (POI) to explore, but the winter also brought locations that offer substantial amounts of chests and a diverse pool of materials to stock up on, but these locations aren’t so obvious to find. YouTuber and Fortnite caster MonsterDFace takes viewers down a path less traveled that is filled with loot and mats that will have you decently loaded up for the rest of the game, without the crowds that Tilted Towers and the like tend to attract. “Just in a small area [the player] is gonna find anywhere from 10 to 12 chests, making it one of the best scrim spots in Fortnite right now,” MonsterDface said. Sitting just Southeast of Frosty Flights are three cabins, bit the middle of the pack should be the juiciest place to make initial landfall. Read more: Popular Fortnite streamers and pro players react to Infinity Blade getting vaulted – ft. Ninja, CouRage, NICKMERCS, and more – The landing spot should reward the player with up to five chests, but the real treasure lies in the cabin itself. From top to bottom, the cabin is supported by stone pillars, letting the player to instantly stock up on valuable materials. MonsterDFace notes that the immediate areas to the North and South both spawn a couple of chests each, and the heavily interspersed trees can be farmed along the way. The YouTuber cautions to keep an eye on the map to not stray too close to the major POI’s where players should stack up. The location isn’t that well known, but players should quickly become privy to its existence.

Fortnite ‘Moisty Palms’ location leaked and potentially coming soon – Dexerto
Fortnite ‘Moisty Palms’ location leaked and potentially coming soon Graphics: Epic GamesEpic Games are continuing to make a whole host of changes in Fortnite Season X and when you thought it had gotten just about weird enough with BRUTES, new mashup locations could be in the works. Fans of the popular battle royale title had been clamoring at the prospect of a return to the original Season 1 map before the game’s latest major update, v10.00, landed on August 1. What they’re seeing instead is a coming together of a number of features and components in a very volatile world, as seen with the huge rift zones that now taken pride of place on the map. Yet, things might be about to get even more interesting. Dataminer Ep8Script claims to have uncovered a whole host of interesting data file names, with the outstanding files being labeled ‘Moisty Palms’ and ‘Spicy Steps’. Speculation has been brewing for quite some time among the game’s online community that we could soon see a return of the original Moisty Mire point of interest, but this new potential revelation appears to tease a mashup location between both Paradise Palms and the previous swamp-like location. Moisty was on the right side of the map when the battle royale mode first released in September 2017, and it would appear that it could be about to make a return in the same spot – currently taken up by the long standing desert biome. Spicy Steps, on the other hand, has been spotted in data files in the past and fans who are regularly jumping into Fortnite Battle Royale will know that nothing has come of that. Sunny Steps, at the time of writing, is the same as it ever was. With NEO Tilted set to experience some big changes as it transitions into its new Tilted Town form, which has previously been leaked, fans will now be on the lookout for clues and teasers at the destinations mentioned. Whether they find something or not remains to be seen, but the prospect of Rift Zones causing the arrival of mashup locations is something they have never seen before and it could be very interesting to see how it plays out.

Fortnite Mobile Update Reveals New Landmark Location Following Meteor Strike – Dexerto
Fortnite Mobile Update Reveals New Landmark Location Following Meteor Strike The Fortnite world is waiting with baited breath to find out what’s going to take place in Season 4 of Battle Pass, and whether the meteor will actually strike. The popular Battle Royale game has teased a meteor strike throughout April and everyone has wanted to know where exactly it would hit and what would be the outcome. Tilted Towers was originally deciphered as the location of the strike, but Dusty Depots and Loot Lake have also been subject to rumors about where it might land. On Tuesday, May 1st the servers went down to switch between Season 3 and Season 4 of Battle Pass, and with that, we finally get to know what happens with that giant piece of rock in the sky. Just 30 minutes after the servers went down, it was revealed by popular YouTuber Ali-A that the mobile update explains that there has been a strike, with a new area called ‘Hop Rocks’. It also appears there is some form of low gravity caused by the meteor striking! “Season 4 is starting off with a BANG. The comet has crashed and brings new locations to explore! Jump in and witness the aftermath of the impact while you level up your Battle Pass and earn all new loot. HOP ROCKS – The comet has left a mark on the island, visit the crater and you’ll find glowing rocks all around. Consume them and lift off with low gravity.” Also the mobile Fortnite app update has given us the first details on the crater! Looks like the new place is called ‘Hop Rocks’ and you can get LOW GRAVITY!? pic.twitter.com/x57ktsClHa — Ali-A (@OMGitsAliA) May 1, 2018 The full notes and details about Season 4 have yet to be revealed at the time of writing, but we will update you all on the situation as it progresses and the servers come back online. What area of the map do you expect to be destroyed?

Fortnite Moisty Palms location coming soon? Clues stacking up in Season 10 – Dexerto
Fortnite Moisty Palms location coming soon? Clues stacking up in Season 10 Graphics: Epic Games, legend_balls_24Fortnite Battle Royale players are starting to see some very interesting changes at Paradise Palms during Season 10 and they all appear to be teasing the addition of a Moisty Mire-style area on the map. The potential return of previously removed Fortnite destinations have been rumored ever since the new season’s trailer was released on July 31, and then Epic Games delivered by replacing Dusty Divot with Dusty Depot. However, a number of popular locations that no longer feature in the battle royale game have since appeared in the game’s files – according to dataminers – including the discovery of ‘Moisty Palms’. Once Moisty Palms was found, players have started to scour the map looking for clues and it should come as no surprise that they have stumbled across some already since the v10.00 patch hit on August 1. While it’s unclear as to what developer have in store for us at Paradise Palms, there certainly seemed to be a tease of a revamp on day one of the game’s landmark tenth season – with the welcoming sign now featuring some swap-like trees. There’s much more where that came from as well. Before the v10.10 patch fans noticed that some of the structure had started to take on the shape of trees again and it looks as if they could be set to replace them. Following the update, though, it looks like things are starting to progressively get greener at Paradise Palms, with more grass appearing around its perimeter. With the way that the weekly updates have been adding small hints each time, the chances of Moisty Mire – or a combined location called Moisty Palms – replacing the structures that have been in place since Season 5 looks increasingly likely, but not yet confirmed.

Fortnite mobile players could face even more backlash after the v7.30 update – Dexerto
Fortnite mobile players could face even more backlash after the v7.30 update Fortnite’s mobile players are already looked down on by PC and console players, but that could be about to get so much worse after Epic Games’ latest announcement. In what could be seen as a significant moment for the developer in trying to close the gap across all platforms, those playing on their smartphones can now sync up a Bluetooth controller to play Fortnite against both PC and console gamers. The new Fortnite v7.30 patch notes show a number of controllers which will be supported right now, just 11 months after the game first launched on Android and iOS. Fortnite will support a number of Android Bluetooth controller adapters, including: Steelseries Stratus XL, Xbox1, Gamevice, Moto Gamepad and Razer Raiju. iOS players can use MFi controllers such as Gamevice or Steelseries Nimbus. While iOS Fortnite players have had the option to upgrade to 60 FPS since November of last year, this new update is a continuation of Epic rolling out that mode for Android. Three selected Android devices – the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (USA), Huawei Honor View 20 and Huawei Mate 20 X – can now be used in 60 FPS. These changes are significant steps in the right direction, in terms of streamlining the game across all platforms – and is particularly good news for mobile players, who are typically frowned upon by PC and console players. When a good player on mobile does come along, the past tells us that people doubt that they’re even “legit” – as Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins did with AdamxLegend. The latter responded by uploading an epic video to YouTube, showing his pro level editing on Fortnite. Will this new change make mobile players even better?

Fortnite Mobile Players Have Figured Out a Way to Predict the Path and Final Location of the Cube – Dexerto
Fortnite Mobile Players Have Figured Out a Way to Predict the Path and Final Location of the Cube Epic GamesFortnite mobile players believe that they have found a way of predicting the movements of the mysterious cube that appeared on August 24 and has been moving around the map ever since. It has been theorized that the cube will eventually end up in, or near, Loot Lake, and mobile players using the lowest graphics settings may have now confirmed it. According to a Reddit post that has gained a huge amount of traction, playing on these low settings allows players to see patches of grass that indicate where the cube has been and where it will be in the future. Players quickly started to work together and report back with various coordinates that have these patches of grass, and this has allowed us to create a map that should show exactly where the cube will end up. As you can see, the cube’s movements from its starting location in Paradise Palms to its current location near Dusty Divot all line up with the patches of grass. If that trend holds true, it looks like it will continue to move up to Wailing Woods, along to Lazy Links and Pleasant Park and then, finally, stop moving next to Loot Lake, just to the north of Tilted Towers: “MoveToLake” and “TurnOn” shortly after. With Season 5 coming to an end soon, you can guarantee that a major event involving the cube is on its way!

Fortnite might not return to Apple devices for another 5 years – Dexerto
Fortnite might not return to Apple devices for another 5 years Epic GamesThe Epic Games and Apple legal battle has been going on for quite some time now, and we’ve seen some drastic developments recently, but more news has surfaced surrounding Fortnite’s return to the iOS store. While Epic Games have been releasing new content into Fortnite, as we saw with the release of Season 8, they’re still battling against technology giants, Apple, in court. The legal fight between the two corporations first stemmed back in August 2020, and, in the time since, we’ve seen some major breakthroughs in the case. One such example is a recent one decided at the beginning of September, which declared Apple victorious, due to Epic Games breaching their contract, leading the latter to pay back nearly $3.5 million. Now, CEO of Epic Games, Tim Sweeney has been notified of a new fixture that may lead to Fortnite not returning to the App Store for nearly half a decade. Fortnite might not return to Apple devices for another 5 years With the news of Apple winning the legal battle between the two monstrous cooperations, there’s been quite a bit of news appearing in the days following the court’s ruling. With many Fortnite mobile content creators such as Ducky moving on from the game, they may be devastated to hear that it doesn’t look likely that Fortnite is going to return to the App Store any time soon. This comes in a new letter obtained by Tim Sweeney, who is the current CEO and Founder over at Epic Games. Sweeney noted via Twitter that “Late last night, Apple informed Epic that Fortnite will be blacklisted from the Apple ecosystem until the exhaustion of all court appeals, which could be as long as a 5-year process.” Late last night, Apple informed Epic that Fortnite will be blacklisted from the Apple ecosystem until the exhaustion of all court appeals, which could be as long as a 5-year process. pic.twitter.com/QCD7wogJef — Tim Sweeney (@TimSweeneyEpic) September 22, 2021 This new document essentially means that Fortnite isn’t coming back to iOS devices for up to half a decade, shutting down all hope Fortnite fans had that they would be able to play the game on their favorite smartphone.

Fortnite teases Miles Morales skin for new Spider-Verse crossover – Dexerto
Fortnite teases Miles Morales skin for new Spider-Verse crossover Sony Pictures AnimationFortnite has begun teasing a new crossover with Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse that will most likely feature the long-awaited Miles Morales skin. The most popular crossovers in Fortnite’s history have been with Marvel characters. Whether it’s the king of Wakanda, Black Panther, or a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, players have been able to spend their V-Bucks for in-game cosmetics to play as their favorite characters. Chapter 3 of Fortnite introduced web-slingers like Peter Parker and Spider-Gwen to the game, but Miles Morales has remained one of the most requested versions of Spider-Man. As luck would have it, with the release of the new animated movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Fortnite appears to have announced Miles Morales’ arrival to the game at some point in Chapter 4 Season 2. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming crossover. Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2099 could be coming to Fortnite Epic Games has released a teaser asking “Where’s Miles?” in what appears to be the spider sign for Miguel O’Hara’s Spider-Man 2099 from the upcoming Spider-Verse film. Considering how many Marvel crossovers have appeared in Fortnite by this point, it seems pretty safe to assume that both of these characters will be getting their own skins in the game very soon. However, this crossover has been anticipated for months because of the addition of Miles Morales to the game’s metaverse. Fortnite’s first Spider-Man crossover happened back in Chapter 3 with Peter Parker available as an in-game skin. There was also a Daily Bugle POI and the Mythic Web Shooters, which allowed players to swing around the Island like their favorite superhero. Recent rumors have suggested that Web Shooters will make a comeback with the introduction of crossover skins featuring Miles Morales and Miguel O’Hara’s versions of the iconic web-slinger. There’s no confirmed start date for this Spider-Verse crossover yet, but dataminers have speculated that it will be included in the v24.40 update to the game, which is scheduled for release on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Although it has not been announced whether or not these skins will have the same cel-shaded texture as Spider-Gwen’s costume, fans are anticipating a faithful adaptation.

Fortnite might come back to iPhone devices following EU regulation changes – Dexerto
Fortnite might come back to iPhone devices following EU regulation changes Epic GamesAfter an absence of three years, Fortnite might soon be available on Apple devices again, thanks to new EU Regulations slated for the next iOS 17. Check out the newest information on how this might make the lives of millions of iPhone gamers a lot more enjoyable. Everyone who plays Fortnite has probably wondered whether and when the game would come back to iOS devices after Epic Games and Apple got into one of the most heated feuds in the video game business. In 2020, Epic launched a lawsuit against Apple Inc., which at the time levied a platform fee against developers for each in-game purchase made through the App Store. Because of this, V-Bucks, Fortnite’s in-game money, were priced more than they are on PC and Console versions of the game. Epic Games did not shy away from throwing barbs at the huge tech powerhouse of Silicon Valley from time to time, and the lawsuit received enough attention to ultimately result in Epic Games losing the case. iOS 17 may bring back the game launcher for Fortnite, which had previously only been accessible through cloud gaming services like Nvidia’s GeForce NOW and XCloud. This paves the way for gamers to get their hands on Epic Games Launcher and play the game on any iOS gadget of their choosing. New EU Regulations might allow iOS users to play Fortnite once again According to recent reports, iOS 17 will be released later this year for Apple’s iPhone and iPad devices, and in accordance with EU legislation, users will be able to sideload applications that are not currently accessible in the App Store. Since no equivalent rule has been established for the U.S. market, this would only apply to EU regions where iPhone and iPad customers reside. Moreover, a user named DuckyTheGamer tweeted the news, providing the real reason why players may once again enjoy Fortnite on Apple devices. The rules will reportedly make it possible for users to sideload apps like Google Play Services or Epic Games Launcher, which host a number of other apps that can only be accessed through the hosted apps. Once this occurs, gamers may grab the most recent Fortnite update from the Epic Games launcher and play it at the highest possible resolution for their device. iPhone gamers are already excited for the launch of iOS 17, but speculation that it will arrive in September just adds fuel to the fire. We will keep you informed of any new information on this possibility as players continue to speculate on it.

Fortnite Middle East server could be coming as new Amazon service announced – Dexerto
Fortnite Middle East server could be coming as new Amazon service announced Amazon have announced they are expanding their Amazon Web Service (AWS) into the Middle East Region – a move that could resolve the long-standing Fortnite server issues for Middle Eastern players. Fortnite players from countries across the Middle East have to connect the European server in order to get a game of the hugely popular battle royale game. While this solution works, it does cause connection issues and high pings which cause issues for both sets of players. For those who are unaware, ping measures the time it takes to send and receive a message from a particular server. Naturally the higher the ping, the worse a gaming experience will be. Hashtag goes viral It is an issue that has plagued players from the Middle East ever since Fortnite was released. In fact, the problem became such an overwhelming struggle for players, that earlier in the year #FortniteMiddleEastServers was the second highest trend on Twitter. Epic Games respond This is something that didn’t escape the attention of Fortnite developer, Epic Games. “We work with multiple cloud providers to supply the infrastructure for Fortnite servers globally. None of these providers yet have capacity available in the Middle East region, but we expect to have a solution in the next few months,” Epic Games posted on Twitter. We work with multiple cloud providers to supply the infrastructure for Fortnite servers globally. None of these providers yet have capacity available in the Middle East region, but we expect to have a solution in the next few months. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more! — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) January 7, 2019 Amazon to save the day? Six months later and maybe Amazon’s announcement is what they expected all along. The Amazon press release states: “Developers, startups, and enterprises, as well as government, education, and nonprofit organizations can start using the new AWS Middle East Region to run applications, and serve end-users across the Middle East.” Back in February, leaks also surfaced showing “Mid-East” being referred to as part of Fortnite server code. It isn’t clear what this code was for though, whether it is part of AWS or whether it was even legitimate. This means Fortnite could utilize a dedicated server in the Middle East but more importantly it means Middle Eastern players can enjoy a lag free, fair game of Fortnite in their attempts to get a victory royale.

Fortnite Middle East servers are coming according to leak – Dexerto
Fortnite Middle East servers are coming according to leak Fortnite players in the Middle East regularly play on pings in the range of 1000 as there is no set of local servers to the region – however, that may finally be all about to change. At the beginning of January, Fortnite fans from the Middle East made some serious noise on Twitter, getting the hashtag #FortniteMiddleEastServers to trend as high as number two in the world. That prompted a response from Epic Games who revealed via Twitter that the companies who work to provide Fortnite servers across the world expected to have the capability to run in the Middle East in the coming months. Now, just over a month later, players from the region may have finally gotten their wish. An apparent new leak posted to the FortniteLeaks subreddit shows a photo of coding for sets of Fortnite servers – with the phrase “Mid-East” front and center, twice, for all to see. The photo also shows parts of what would be the server’s IP address and port number – which matches up with some other server locations shown in the image. However, there is no way to confirm the validity of the leak as of yet and it will still be on Epic Games to make any sort of announcement – especially regarding something like this that has grown massively via Twitter, with fans asking each day just when they will be able to play with a normal ping. Seeing as Epic had already made it a priority for the year and promised fans that they would not have to wait long for a localized batch of servers, it surely can’t be too far away.

Fortnite finally set to add Middle East server – as well as 14 others – Dexerto
Fortnite finally set to add Middle East server – as well as 14 others Epic Games/PixabayA Fortnite data miner appears to have revealed the next set of locations for the game’s servers and some fans are bound to be ecstatic by the news, with at least one believed to be coming very soon. Despite being perhaps the most popular game in the world, Fortnite still has plenty of issues that fans want to see cleaned up. Be it a rare bug that causes an unusual death or an invisibility error that may influence the closing stages of the game, Epic Games are under constant pressure to make changes. Yet, one of the biggest things fans across the world have wanted to see fixed is the servers. Competitive players like Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney have raged about how ping affects the game when they do play, while others – like fans in the Middle East – haven’t had their own server to play on. However, after viral campaigns, those Middle Eastern fans and many others around the world might soon be able to celebrate their own low ping and better connections. On August 5, Fortnite data miner FNBRInsider revealed a list of 15 new servers that are set to be introduced in the near future. This list included: Bahrain, Belgium, Canada, Finland, Iowa, Montreal, Moscow, Mumbai, Netherlands, Oregon, Seoul, Singapore, South Carolina, Taiwan, and Zurich. Read More: Fortnite v10.00 Content Update patch notes – Of course, a few stick out as solely countries, but those appear to be instances where the final location has either not yet been chosen, or there is an existing server in the region that needs to be taken into account. Yet, console players in these nations will have to wait just a little bit longer to see what their best ping location is – as a manual test can’t be run in the same way PC can. UPDATE: The dataminer claimed, on August 7, that the Bahrain server is expected to be added in the near future. Their additional comment can be seen below. Until they make that announcement, however, it’s probably worth sticking with your current server – even if it doesn’t give you the most ideal ping rating. Fortnite Meteoric Rise challenges and Visitor rewards leaked – Dexerto
Fortnite Meteoric Rise challenges and Visitor rewards leaked Graphics: Epic GamesFortnite Battle Royale players will soon be able to grind through a number of Meteoric Rise challenges and if you would like to know how to complete them, you’ve come to the right place. The upcoming set of challenges will be added to the game sometime in the near future, according to a leak, which appears to show that brand new Visitor cosmetics will be up for grabs in the rewards. The Visitor has been a recurring character in the battle royale game throughout the seasons, most recently seen breaking up one of the BRUTE Mech suits in-game, and has even been linked to an ongoing rocket event at Dusty Depot. A fresh skin and back bling was leaked for the character on September 11 as well, named the Visitor Volta and Star Surge – as seen in HYPEX‘s video. With a mechanical body armor and huge claw on its left arm, this certainly looks different to anything else we’ve seen added to the game so far. The clip below shows not only the two different rewards for these challenges, but a number of fresh skin styles for it as well which can be rotated in and out once it’s been unlocked. Visitor Volta In-Game + Backbling pic.twitter.com/DUhm3Mnzjo — Lucas7yoshi // Fortnite Leaks & News (@Lucas7yoshi) September 11, 2019 So, let’s take a look at how to complete the challenges and the number of missions you’re going to have to check off get your hands on those rewards. Fortnite Meteoric Rise challenges Destroy structures with Junk Rifts (10) – Visit different Rift Zones in the same match (3) – Eliminate opponents in Rift Zones (7) – Search chests or ammo boxes in Rift Zones (20) – Land in a Rift Zone and place Top 10 in Solo, Duos, or Squads (1) – Consume Glitched Foraged items with different effects (4) – Touch a giant glowing cube, enter the Rift above Loot Lake, and search a landing pod within a meteor (3) – Fortnite Meteoric Rise challenges rewards One challenge completed – 10 Battle Stars – Two challenges completed – 10 Battle Stars – Three challenges completed – 10 Battle Stars – Four challenges completed – Meteor Man Back Bling – Five challenges completed – 10 Battle Stars – Six challenges completed – 10 Battle Stars – Seven challenges completed – Visitor Volta skin – Given the map changes following the v10.30 patch on September 11, where Dusty Depot was completely reworked with a huge scaffolding appearing on top of one of the buildings, it seems very likely that the Visitor will be working on building a rocket at the location. It’s difficult to say when these challenges and rewards will be added to the game, at the time of writing, as they’ve not yet been confirmed by Epic Games. However, with the rocket event seemingly coming soon, there’s a chance fans won’t have to wait much longer.

Fortnite x Metallica: Everything we know – Dexerto
Fortnite x Metallica: Everything we know Dallas Fletcher / Epic GamesHere is everything we know about the Metallica live event concert and collab that is expected to be released in Fortnite during June as part of Chapter 5, Season 3. The Fortnite Metallica collaboration first came to light when players lost their minds over the entire Fortnite 2024 Roadmap being leaked, which has all held true so far. This stated that the iconic metal band would be joining as one of many collaborations this year and would arrive in the middle of June. Epic has since officially teased the collab is coming following a series of posts from their various Twitter/X accounts. Furthermore, as the expected release date has become closer, various trusted leakers have revealed more details about what players can expect from the Metallica live event and collab. Epic officially teases Metallica collab On June 10, the Rocket Racing account started by mysteriously posting the words “Exit light.” Despite fans being confused at first, they then after a few minutes replied with more responses from each of their five accounts for their different game modes. It quickly became apparent they were together constructing the famous lyrics from Metallica’s hit song Enter Sandman. It ended with Fortnite’s main account all but confirming the collab by stating: “We’re off to never-never land.” Fortnite Metallica live event ShiinaBR revealed that Fortnite will kick off the collab and Fortnite Festival Season 4 with a Metallica concert in the Battle Royale mode for players to enjoy. This was after a text file titled: “Used in CH5S3 Metallica Concert” was discovered in the game files. The band is set to perform on June 13 to mark the launch of Fortnite Festival Season 4. NotPaloleaks has stated that the event will be called “Fuel, Fire, Fury” and will include six “fan-favorite” songs. Fortnite Festival Season 4 Epic has confirmed that Fortnite Festival Season 3 will end on June 13. The season featured Billie Eilish as the headliner. Metallica is, therefore, believed to be taking over as the star of the show for Season 4. According to the Roadmap, the season will last for two months and end in August. Jorge_Most has leaked an email allegedly from Epic, which provides more details about the collaboration and the band’s involvement in headlining Fortnite Festival Season 4. They stated: “Get ready for the battle with Metallica in season 4! Upload the volume to the maximum with the new Festival Pass and unlock rewards!” Players will, therefore, be able to complete the Free and Premium Reward Tracks as usual. The Premium option is expected to feature Metallica-themed rewards and a feature skin for completing the whole Festival Pass in Season 4, as seen in all previous seasons. James, Lars, Kirk, and Robert Metallica skins According to NotPaloleaks, every Metallica band member will receive their own skins and cosmetics as part of the collaboration. These will be available to players during Chapter 5, Season 3 in the Item Shop. Epic allegedly stated in the leaked email: “Leave your rivals deaf! James, Lars, Kirk, and Robert from Metallica, the masters of puppets by excellency, are here to hit hard. Available in the Item Shop!” It is unknown what these will include besides the skins, but they are expected to include each band member’s Instruments, Metallica Jam Tracks, and more. Metallica Metal Lightning Guitar Mythic Dataminers have revealed that Metallica will receive their own Mythic in the Battle Royale mode. It will allegedly be called the “Metal Lightning Guitar.” However, other than the name, found in the game files, no other details have been given about what to expect from the Mythic. Metallica’s Loot Island POI A brand-new Metallica location is set to launch onto the Chapter 5 Season 3 map titled: “Metallica’s Loot Island.” As the name suggests, it will be centered around various loot for players to get their hands on. The leaked email stated: “Are you all set to ride in the metal beam? Dazzle your opponents with the lightning guitars metalhead, release loot in Metallica’s Loot Island, and complete missions of Metallica to unlock rewards!” This suggests that players can get their hands on the Metal Lightning Guitar Mythic exclusively from this location. This would follow the pattern of previous seasons in Chapter 5 with the Greek god and Avatar Bending Mythics. With the south of the map already being taken over by the Wrecked Wasteland in Season 3, we would expect the Loot Island to be located towards the middle to the top side of the Battle Royale island and potentially replace an existing POI. Rocket Racing Rocket Racing is set to receive its own “Thrash Mountain” Metallica-themed racing track, the “Thrash Mountain Car,” and several rewards for players to get their hands on. The leaked email stated for Rocket Racing: “Step on the gas pedal to the tune of Fuel from Metallica. Drive at full speed to the rhythm of this great group in the Circuit of Thrash Mountain! This new Circuit brings new challenges and rewards so that you can compete with style.” NotPaloLeaks further revealed the “Thrash Mountain Car” would also be joining, but it is not yet known whether this will be a skin that can be used in Rocket Racing and Battle Royale as normal or if it will also be an actual new vehicle. With the Wrecked season centered around Nitro-fueled cars and Mythic Nitro cars, we could see it joining as its own unique car to traverse the Battle Royale map. Either way, the Metallica collab is set to become one of many major collabs in Fortnite, following on from Fallout, which has already kicked off Chapter 5 Season 3 in a huge way.

Fortnite Metal Masq bundle leaked and coming soon – Dexerto
Fortnite Metal Masq bundle leaked and coming soon Lucas7yoshi / Epic GamesFortnite Chapter 2 could be set to introduce a brand new ‘Meal Masq’ bundle in the near future, if leaked information is to be believed. Epic Games rolled out their v11.40 patch on January 15, which included a revamped Heavy Assault Rifle, the introduction of a new feature called Sidegrading and more. Alongside those official announcements, though, data miners have been raking through all of the new files added to the game as part of the weekly update and it is fair to say that they found a gold mine in terms of cosmetics. A whole bunch of skins, styles and cosmetics were leaked after the patch went live. One of the most notable and exciting pieces of news to emerge from the leaks, however, wasn’t one particular outfit or style. Instead, a fresh bundle has been leaked ahead of schedule. The Metal Masq pack was leaked by reliable data miner Lucas7yoshi, showing what appears to be a main skin (right) followed by an alternative style that players will be able to activate. The leaked hasn’t given a specific timeframe as to when they expect the pack to be added to Fortnite Chapter 2, although content found in leaks are typically ready to go. Well, apart from unusual cases like the Bao Bros skins that took months to arrive after being revealed, of course. METAL MASQ BUNDLE pic.twitter.com/lxZf4Ah7jw — Lucas7yoshi – FESTIVAL ARC??? (@Lucas7yoshi) January 15, 2020 Over the last few months, players have been treated to a Star Wars crossover, Winter event and much more – all of which brought different limited time modes with them. In the future, though, it appears that a new Search and Destroy Creative LTM will be announced alongside this Metal Masq pack. At least, that’s what Lucas7yoshi has suggested. this is for the search and destroy creative event thing, like zone wars — Lucas7yoshi – Leaks/News (@Lucas7yoshi) January 15, 2020 As is the case with any Fortnite leaks, though, we can never be sure as to whether or not this is how things will play out in-game. Sometimes things found in the game files don’t always make the cut, or are amended, but it’s certainly worth keeping an eye on the Fortnite Item Shop for the foreseeable future if you want to pick up this leaked bundle.

Fortnite Mending Machine trick keeps players alive when down – Dexerto
Fortnite Mending Machine trick keeps players alive when down Epic GamesNeed help staying on your feet in Fortnite? The game’s newest Mending Machine trick lets players make a cheeky exchange to keep themselves alive after being knocked by an enemy squad. Fortnite has made tons of changes to enhance survivability over the years. From adding in a few seconds of thirst protection for downed players to implementing the carry and toss system so that teammates can carry each other to safety, Epic Games is always looking out for the ones who’ve been taken out of fights. The devs have taken it a step further this time around though, allowing crafty players to extend the amount of time left on their ever-draining health bar when they go down. Fortnite’s strange Mending Machine trick is keeping players alive Players can take advantage of this trick by approaching any of the map’s vending machines after they’ve been knocked down. When crawling in front of the machine, the prompt to interact with it will appear and let any downed user exchange gold bars to replenish their health, extending the amount of time before they bleed out. As u/peppers_ pointed out, this is all part of Fortnite’s new philosophy on what players should be able to do while they’re downed: “You can use ziplines and open doors too while knocked. Probably open chests too, but I haven’t confirmed that yet.” Another commenter joked that this could make matches more enjoyable for all of the game’s less-skilled players: “Game changer. Considering I spend 90% of the game knocked, I can last a little longer haha.” While this isn’t the biggest change in Chapter 3, it certainly seems to be a popular one amongst the community, with one fan suggesting that these kinds of updates will keep Fortnite on top of the battle royale mountain forever: “Little updates like this are what make FN more fun than other games. What a weird and delightful thing to add.”

Fortnite Mech vs Monster event recap – highlights, map changes and more – Dexerto
Fortnite Mech vs Monster event recap – highlights, map changes and more Epic GamesThe highly-anticipated Fortnite Cattus vs Doggus event finally happened on July 20 but if you were unable to get an in-real time look, we’ve got everything you need to know. After weeks of build-up, Fortnite’s Doggus Mech finally did battle with the Cattus Monster as Epic Games gave us one of the most epic in-game cinematic events to date. Of course, the game’s servers – across all platforms – were flooded with players who used the infinite jetpack fuel to take to the high ground and get a better view of what was unfolding. However, if you couldn’t be near a lobby or a stream, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered with a full recap of what you missed, including highlights and the subsequent map changes. What happened during Fortnite’s Mech vs Monster event? The event kicked off at 2pm EST/7pm BST/11am PST on July 20 with the Cattus Monster finally rising out of the surrounding ocean and throwing down with the Mech at Loot Lake. The Mech had the upper hand at first but the monster was able to fight back with a powerful beam and dish out a ton of damage. The Mech was eventually able to tackle the monster into the water but the monster recovered and ripped an arm off the robot. In the conclusion to the event, the Mech reached into Loot Lake’s vault and harnessed its power, pulled a sword from Neo Tilted and then struck down the monster once and for all, leaving its skeletal remains behind. End of the Fortnite event. 10/10 incredible job @Fortnitegame pic.twitter.com/EgBcx3T9hk — Ninja (@Ninja) July 20, 2019 Were there any map changes? As for map changes, the Cattus vs Doggus event didn’t exactly destroy the battle royale island and give us a brand new layout as some players may have been expecting. The biggest change here is the addition of a brand new skeleton just sitting on the map. So, there you have it, everything you needed to know about the absolutely jaw-dropping in-game event. The build-up to Season 10, which kicks off on August, 1 will continue as we prepare to see what Epic Games has in-store. One thing’s for sure and it’s that this event will be very hard for Epic Games to top in the future. However, if anyone’s able to top it, it’s themselves.

Fortnite players poke fun at game’s “stupid” Match Quests – Dexerto
Fortnite players poke fun at game’s “stupid” Match Quests Epic GamesFortnite fans are poking fun at the game’s Match Quests, which often ask players to complete “stupid” side objectives. The battle royale game’s Chapter 5 Season 1 content introduced a host of new features, including side objectives known as Match Quests. Match Quests appear at the start of a match, allowing players to take on a set of challenges. Each challenge completed guarantees a user walks away with an extra 5,000 XP once the match concludes. While the offered XP bonus is a welcomed addition, the Fortnite community doesn’t seem too fond of the Daily Quests replacement. And now, many have taken to making fun of the various quest objectives. Fortnite players mock the ridiculousness of Match Quests Reddit user Tonydml shared a meme making fun of Match Quests in Epic’s popular multiplayer game. “Match Quests Be Like,” reads the caption followed by a fake screenshot filled with Fortnite objectives. One of the “Combat” imitation quests asks users to “Get a Victory Royale with 21 kills.” Another of the fake tasks challenges Fortnite players to cut down at least two trees. The final objective in the meme is its most absurd, “Headshot a bounty for 253 damage while emoting as the bullet makes impact.” As several people in the Reddit thread noted, the meme certainly looks as if it could be real. “Took me a while to realize that this was fake,” one person responded to the above post. Other people were quick to point out that Fortnite actually tasks players with cutting down no less than seven trees. “Only TWO trees? I usually get the mission, where you have to cut down seven,” someone noted. Reads another reply, “The match quests are so stupid.” Elsewhere in the thread, a Redditor said they’ve started returning to the lobby if they don’t like the quests offered. Complaints longing for the return of Daily Quests fill the comments section, as well. Similarly, players blasted the quests that charge them with wielding specific weapons. But it wouldn’t be a thread about poking fun without some good-natured mocking. As such, several Fortnite fans chimed in with their own fake Match Quests objectives. “Get 2 eliminations after a victory royale,” joked one person. “Restore health with food items /50,” said a different reply. It’ll be interesting to see how Epic continues to evolve the system in the seasons and chapters ahead.

Contents Fortnite x Matrix skin release date – What to expect with Fortnite x Matrix collab – Fortnite x Matrix collab leaks – Fortnite & Matrix skin release date According to notable Fortnite leaker HYPEX, his sources have told him that a Fortnite x Matrix collab is planned for the second half of December. The collab will supposedly include skins for two main characters Neo and Trinity. With the release of The Matrix: Resurrections set for December 22, we should expect the Fortnite and Matrix collab to be released close to the same time. We can’t guarantee any release date for the Fortnite and Matrix collaboration. However, it would be safe to assume that the skins will be released on the same day as the movie on December 22. https://twitter.com/HYPEX/status/1461395422912647168?s=20 What would be in a Fortnite & Matrix collab? Like previous collaborations, we should expect a skin bundle that will cost 2,000 V-Bucks in the Item Shop. In past Fortnite crossovers, we’ve seen two skins, two backblings, and a loading screen included in the bundle. A Gear Bundle may also be included, which would likely include two Pickaxes and an emote. If an emote is included, it would be a surprise if it isn’t a recreation of the iconic “bullet dodge” move we see at a pivotal point in the first movie. Fortnite & Matrix collab leaks Earlier in 2021, YouTube star Alastair ‘Ali-A’ Aiken was sent a package from Epic Games that hinted towards crossover skins that were coming to the game in the future. Included was a list of words, which could be interpreted as clues for what was the come. The list had words that could be related to the Terminator, the Mandolorian, and many more which have since been released in Fortnite. But, among the list was the word “Candy” which could be interpreted as the red and blue pill we see in The Matrix. The bizarre collaborations we’ve seen in the past go to show that nothing is off the cards for Epic Games. The Matrix and Fortnite skins will be a crossover that fans will want to get their hands on.

Fortnite leak signals classic Marvel skins are returning – Dexerto
Fortnite leak signals classic Marvel skins are returning Epic Games/MarvelAccording to a leak, Fortnite’s Marvel Royalty and Warriors pack will return, with skins for the likes of Captain Marvel included. Epic Games released the first Marvel Royalty and Warriors Pack in December 2020, specifically as part of a Chapter 2 Season 5 update. Priced at $24.99, the Marvel-themed bundle added Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Taskmaster skins to Fortnite. The pack additionally included a backbling, pickaxe, and glider for each of the three characters. While players could only purchase the bundle for a limited time, it has returned in the years since then, and most recently hit the Item Shop in September 2023. Leaker iFireMonkey claims Fortnite’s Marvel Royalty and Warriors pack is coming back in the near future. There’s no rumored date for the content’s return, but datamined information marks September 1, 2024 as its last day of availability. However, a line of text in the datamine also notes “it may return in the future.” As shown in the leaked image above, the three characters and their respective items aren’t all that will return in the Marvel Royalty and Warriors pack. Prospective buyers can also look forward to accessing LEGO versions of Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Taskmaster. While Epic Games hasn’t confirmed any plans to revisit Fortnite’s Marvel Royalty and Warriors content, such a potential update does align with rumors claiming another Marvel-themed season will go live when Chapter 5 Season 4 launches in August. These uncorroborated leaks also hint that the supposed Marvel season will bring back Galactus, who last appeared during an event in December 2020. At present, Fortnite is in the middle of Chapter 5 Season 3: Wrecked, which introduced chaotic car combat to the mix. Epic won’t confirm what to expect from Season 4 until days before the season drops.

Fortnite map turns into giant disco – Fortnite New Year’s event recap – Dexerto
Fortnite map turns into giant disco – Fortnite New Year’s event recap Fortnite has delivered yet another in-game spectacle that many fans celebrating the year’s end enjoyed during the New Year 2020 event. Epic Games are well known for creating some of the most spectacular in-game events in Fortnite for holidays and collaborations as seen with the latest Star Wars crossover. It was no different for New Years’ Eve 2020, as the developers lined up something special once again for their players who were celebrating the turn of the decade. New Year’s 2020 in-game event Although the New Year’s event was not as big as the Star Wars event, or ‘The End’ Fortnite event that saw the close of the game’s first chapter, many fans still gathered online to witness what was prepared. The in-game New Year’s event did not differ too much from when Fortnite celebrated it in 2019, as a giant disco ball descended from a rift in the sky once again. After a few seconds of music and celebration, the giant disco ball exploded into fireworks which spelled out 2020 along with an image of the iconic Fortnite llama. https://twitter.com/dakotaz/status/1212141400017588224 Weapon skins and cosmetic items The event kicked off early in the day on December 31 and repeated every hour until the new year had finally arrived. As part of the New Year’s celebration, Epic Games also provided fans with a free cosmetic item in the form of a ‘New Year 2020’ weapon wrap. Along with the new weapon wrap, players can also unlock earn a 2020 Fortnite glider for free by completing the Winterfest challenge on Day 15 once it is unlocked. The glider sticks with the celebratory theme of the New Year as its design mirrors the firework display from the in-game event. The Fortnite Winterfest event is expected to end on January 7, so be sure to log-in if you still have rewards left to claim or any challenges to complete.

Fortnite: Marshmello’s voice mysteriously heard booming all over the map just a day before his concert event – Dexerto
Fortnite: Marshmello’s voice mysteriously heard booming all over the map just a day before his concert event YaleIt appears that one last major Easter egg has been dropped in honor of EDM DJ Marshmello’s collaboration with Fortnite Battle Royale. With just a day before the popular music artist is set to appear in the actual Fortnite game and host a concert, his voice was heard mysteriously booming from one corner of the map to the other. “What’s up Fortnite, it’s Marshmello,” the voice was heard saying. “Can’t wait to see you guys tomorrow!” There appeared to be no actual source of the voice as it almost seemed as though Marshmello was speaking from heavens for everyone to hear him equally. No way dude @marshmellomusichttps://t.co/ZDH1gDznFG pic.twitter.com/8m4GYC4pTm — STRIPEZ :alien: (@IHaveStripez) February 2, 2019 Apparently this was not the first time Marshmello has spoke to the entire map as some were also tweeting about how they heard the same voice very quietly saying “Mic check, one, two” at some point on January 31. The popular DJ himself also commented on the clip, which has gone viral on Twitter, offering his own thoughts as to the source of his own mysterious voice. This could very well be the final Marshmello-themed Easter egg dropped by Epic Games as the DJ’s highly anticipated in-game concert event is set to take place on February 2 starting at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET. In the days leading up to this event, Epic have released a lot of themed content in Fortnite, including special challenges, cosmetic items, map changes, and more. For everything you need to know about the event, including the full schedule, location, how to watch, and more, visit our dedicated Fortnite x Marshmello info hub.

Fortnite map reveals every location of The Baller for Week 4, Season 8 challenges – Dexerto
Fortnite map reveals every location of The Baller for Week 4, Season 8 challenges Rock Paper ShotgunEpic Games shocked Fortnite fans when they added The Baller to the game, but not everybody will know each and every location across the map where they can be found. The new vehicle, which looks very similar to the hamster balls seen in 2015’s blockbuster Jurassic World movie, makes its Fortnite weekly challenges debut in Week 4 of Season 8, where players will need to ride The Baller in five different matches. After being added to the game’s battle royale mode on March 12 with the v8.10 update, it has since been ‘nerfed’ in the v8.11 patch – with its spawn rate cut by 50%. However, that won’t stop you finding them around the Fortnite map. It’s very different to any other mode of transport in Fortnite, as it can latch onto nearby structures such as trees and buildings using its built-in Grappler to thrust its way around the map. Yet, not everybody will know where to find it. That’s why we decided to put together this easy map to help you locate one with ease and give you an opportunity to scout out the best places to land in order to find one. After all, you’re going to need to know where they are to complete the Week 4, Season 8 challenges. A number of high profile Twitch streamers have already produced some hilarious moments with The Baller,as Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Ben ‘Dr Lupo’ Lupo found an incredible way to combine it with a Pirate Cannon to move around the map at breakneck speed. Hopefully our map will allow you to not only find the new hamster balls, but also give you the best possible chance of completing weekly challenges as well.

Fortnite map reveals locations Loot Llamas are most likely to appear – Dexerto
Fortnite map reveals locations Loot Llamas are most likely to appear Epic GamesA new map shared by prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX has revealed the locations where Supply Llamas are most likely to appear on the Season 5 map. Supply Llamas, usually referred to as Loot Llamas by Fortnite fans, are a rare occurrence on The Island. Only a few of them appear in each round of Epic Games’ popular battle royale, but they’re definitely worth finding and breaking open. They contain stacks of each type of ammo (except rockets), resources like wood and steel, and consumable items like Bandages and Shield Potions. So naturally, fans are always on the hunt for them, and spotting one in the wild is always a highlight. As well as being a useful resource in the game, Loot Llamas have become an iconic symbol of the Fortnite brand through merchandise and fan art, only further increasing their desirability. Where to find Supply Llamas in Fortnite Season 5 While Loot Llamas spawn in random locations during every match, Fortnite leaker HYPEX has come up with a map based on their previous play data that highlights the most common places to find the rare item. “Made something to draw the spawn location of 450 llamas from 90 matches using my replays, the arrows show the most common spots,” they explained in a post on Twitter, alongside an image of their map. When asked if the location guide took them a long time to make, HYPEX explained that it was “all done auto”. The map suggests the four most common Loot Llama locations are as follows: On the hill that’s east of Craggy Cliffs. – Just off the main road northwest of Retail Row. – Near the road that leads east out of Catty Corner. – At the very bottom of the map, southeast of Misty Meadows. – Made something to draw the spawn location of 450 llamas from 90 matches using my replays, the arrows show the most common spots! pic.twitter.com/nB9WQoxvq7 — HYPEX (@HYPEX) December 30, 2020 Of course, there’s no guarantee that Loot Llamas will appear in these specific locations when you play, but it seems as though you’ll have a much higher chance of finding one at these four spots than anywhere else on the map. Season 5 of Fortnite is well underway, with a host of new additions including a map refresh, new weapons and some epic Gaming Legends skins. Most recently, an Operation Snowmando update provided a frosty overhaul for the game. You can keep up to date with the latest guides, news and leaks over on our dedicated Fortnite hub.

Every Fortnite v9.30 map change – Loot Lake, Pleasant Park, more – Dexerto
Every Fortnite v9.30 map change – Loot Lake, Pleasant Park, more The biggest change to Fortnite Battle Royale, as the Boom Bow weapon was finally inducted into the game’s vault. In other words, it’s been removed. In addition to these changes, Epic Games have decided to mix up the appearance of the map itself, seemingly in conjunction with the upcoming Cattus Event. While there hasn’t been any areas removed or added to the map, players who drop into the game will see some marked changes to some of their favorite points of interest. Loot Lake One of the bigger changes from the recent map update comes at Loot Lake. The monster which had been previously housed under Polar Peak and has since escaped, made its mark on the popular landing spot by destroying the factories to the west. The long-running wires that link Loot Lake to NEO Tilted, as well as the slipstreams, have been exposed too. So, players can now get a look inside the huge tubes. There is also a footprint from the monster situated by the newly destroyed factories and it’s huge! Fortnite’s 14 days of Summer On a more cheerful note, locations across the map have been given party tune-ups in preparation for the upcoming 14 days of Summer event. Two areas in particular – Lazy Lagoon and the desert biome – have had items like large umbrellas and lounge chairs dotted around to represent a pool party-like atmosphere. In addition to those, giant beach balls have been dotted around. Like the Baller vehicles, these can be hit around using your harvesting tool. However, we’re not quite sure yet if you’ll do damage by hitting another player with them just yet. John Wick’s house Sticking with the desert biome, John Wick’s house has been dragged into the future. While the event based around the movie release might well have come to a close, the eastern-based house still remains. There have been no changes to the structure of the house itself, but if you run to the back you’ll find a brand new set of solar panels like those at Frosty Flights. Pleasant Park Houses in and around Pleasant Park have suffered some damage, but it’s not quite certain what has caused it. The modern-looking home, similar to the one that occupies a place near Loot Lake, has been completely wrecked and torn down. A chest may still spawn in the garage, though you’ll have no cover from above unless you decide to bust out some materials. With a number of these changes coming alongside whatever destruction the monster is set to inflict on the map, more tweaks and updates may appear in the future. Keep your eyes locked to Dexerto for the all latest updates as we’ll be sure to keep this post up to date with any other further changes.

Fortnite map of every Chest spawn location in Loot Lake and Frosty Flights | Season 7, Week 7 challenges – Dexerto
Fortnite map of every Chest spawn location in Loot Lake and Frosty Flights | Season 7, Week 7 challenges One of the weekly challenges for Week 7 of Season 7 in Fortnite Battle Royale requires players to search through Chests at the Loot Lake or Frosty Flights locations. The challenge requires that seven Chests be opened and there is no specific requirement for how many need to be opened at each location. This means that players can either choose to split the Chests between the two locations or open them all at one. While this challenge is very straightforward, it can be time consuming and will often require players to load into multiple matches in order to open the total number of Chests required. In order to help speed up the process, we are providing maps that show where each Chests spawns at both Loot Lake and Frosty Flights. This will arm players with valuable info that they can use to know precisely where to land and where to go to at each location. The first map here is of Leaky Lake, which has 26 total spawn points for Chests. This does not mean that all 26 Chests spawn in each match as these are merely the spots where Chests are known to spawn. Here is the map for the Chest spawns at Frosty Flights, which has a grand total of 18 spots where Chests can be found. This is eight points less than Leaky Lake, so it might be more advisable to choose the other location over this one for the purposes of this challenge. Keep in mind that when completing this challenge, players should always get eliminated, either by opponents or themselves, prior to leaving the match. Leaving straightaway without getting eliminated will result in the progress made in that match to not count. Searching through seven Chests is one of several challenges available this week. For more details on the full list of challenges, and a comprehensive guide on how to best complete each one, visit ourhub for the Fortnite Season 7 Week 7 challenges.

Fortnite Map Changes See Tomato Town Become Tomato Temple in V5.30 Patch – Dexerto
Fortnite Map Changes See Tomato Town Become Tomato Temple in V5.30 Patch *UPDATE* Tomato Town is now called Tomato Temple! Here’s what it looks like in-game. Original article… Fortnite Battle Royale’s map has undergone another major change with Tomato Town being replaced by some sort of jungle! The release of the V5.30 patch on Thursday, August 23, marked the introduction of the all-new Rift-To-Go item and a Limited Time Mode called Score Royale. However, the patch notes released by Epic Games only scratched the surface of what the update included. Data miners have already leaked the appearance of the Road Trip skin, as well as a number of other cosmetic items that are yet to be released, and got their hands on the map image that will be used in-game once the update’s downtime is over! The most drastic change to the map, as shared by @FNBRLeaks on Twitter, seems to be the complete overhaul of Tomato Town. The popular location now seems to be covered in a dense forest: 450 Another leak that came shortly after patch was released shows the Week 8 loading screen. The image seems to give more clues as it appears to show what Tomato Town will now look like: It is currently unknown how long the update’s downtime will last for, but you can guarantee that first-hand images of the map changes will begin flooding in as soon as it does. Look below for a full view of the map after the V5.30 update.

Fortnite Map Changes on the Way as ‘Crazy Castle’ Spotted in New Video – Dexerto
Fortnite Map Changes on the Way as ‘Crazy Castle’ Spotted in New Video The continually changing Fortnite map looks to receive another update soon as a castle was spotted in the background of a new video. Epic Games released a video showing off a new Emote, however the changes in the background of the video are grabbing all the attention. First up, the Villain’s Lair that played a major role in the lead up to Season 5 is now missing. The Villain’s Lair was the site of the rocket launch that ripped a hole in the sky and brought along all the Season 5 map changes. The Viking Village, a recent edition to the Fortnite map, is also no longer visible. The Vikings may be gone but another representation of ancient warriors could be on the way as a castle was spotted on the hills in the distance. u/lepracs found a secret castle hidden in the back of the capoeira emote trailer. What if this is what the Crazy Castle Spray has been hinting at? from r/FortNiteBR The Crazy Castle is already in the game as a spray, though a bigger role may be upcoming. The spray appeared as a tier 2 reward for the Season 5 Battle Pass, launching speculation about when it could appear on the map. A giant purple cube has appeared on the map and may be the catalyst for all of these map upcoming changes. Be careful when approaching the cube as it can damage you, Ninja found out the hard way in the middle of a $500,000 tournament. Secret Fortnite map changes at Pleasant Park you might have missed – Dexerto
Secret Fortnite map changes at Pleasant Park you might have missed Epic GamesFortnite’s Pleasant Park has been changing subtly throughout Season 2, but if you haven’t been paying close attention, you might have missed it. Epic Games updates Fortnite with brand new weapons, items, and map changes far more frequently than most other battle royale titles. While some adjustments are easily noticeable, such as the underwater hatches near The Agency, others are subtle and more gradual changes. Pleasant Park and Crash Site have both been altered over time throughout Season 2, and here’s what you might have missed. Moving cargo Crash Site was introduced at the beginning of Chapter 2. Since then, a faction war has broken out between the Ghost and Shadow operatives, one of which appears to be stealing resources from this particular point of interest. While the location features a crashed plane with plenty of loose cargo, the number of supplies on the island is slowly dwindling. Since the beginning of Season 2, supplies from Crash Site have been transported over to the Shadow Safe House in Pleasant Park, as Reddit user ‘Foxtrot1124’ pointed out on April 12. Fun Fact! Since the start of Season 2 Chapter 2 the Crash Site landmark has been slowly changing! The supplies inside have all been moving to the shadow house in pleasant park, and just recently vines started growing on the plane, nothing huge, but definitely excited to see what happens next update! by inFortNiteBR Vines are growing Crash Site could also be set for a big change of its own as vines have slowly been growing over the wreckage week by week. While more and more foliage may continue to take over the plane and the island as a whole, things may shake up drastically in the weeks to come. Season 3 is just weeks away and Epic often changes old locations and introduces new ones in major seasonal updates. Perhaps the heated war between Ghost and Shadow will finally come to fruition with a few key destinations being wiped off the grid. Only time will tell as we approach the next season. Pleasant Park has been the target of much debate in the Fortnite community throughout Season 2. From rumors of an outright removal, to a hidden underground bunker… Could it all be changing again very soon? Season 3 of Fortnite is just weeks away and Dexerto will be keeping you on top of all the biggest changes in the lead-up.

Fortnite map changes: New Coral Castle POI and more – Dexerto
Fortnite map changes: New Coral Castle POI and more Epic Games[jwplayer Puy4UiEa]A new batch of Fortnite map changes went live in the August 1st water level update, and the Atlantis POI is finally in-game. However, it has a pretty different name – Coral Castle. Throughout Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 3, the water that initially flooded the battle royale map has been dropping. Ever so slightly, the map has been returning to its former glory – with some updates bringing back roads, bridges, and lost houses, while others have brought back the named POIs. In recent weeks, Fortnite fans have been able to return to Risky Reels, Craggy Cliffs, and Dirty Docks, but speculation had remained about the potential for an Aquaman-themed spot. That location, dubbed Atlantis, had long been sought after. Now, following the August 1 update, the new POI is live, but it’s not got the name you’d think. Fortnite Atlantis POI So, if you head to the northwest corner of the map, you will see the previously leaked POI is live and has replaced the giant Whirlpool that was once there. The name of the spot was originally in-game as The new spot does have plenty of goodies on offer. The temple-like buildings that are standing in the POI offer plenty of brick for you to harvest and there chests all over the place. Fortnite map changes – August 1 Elsewhere, the Fortilla has been tweaked quite significantly as YouTuber Kanga notes that its orientation has completely changed. Though, all of the spawns in terms of chests and floor loot are actually the same. Slurpy Swamp has also returned to its former glory, so you can hit up the factory for plenty of free shields. The small Spaceship island is also above the water now, so the Ancient Astronaut challenges could soon get underway. With the water now at it’s final, and lowest, point of the season, it might give Epic the chance to final release the cars. However, we’ll just have to wait and see on that front given that there have been delays previously.

Fortnite map changes in July 24 update: Weeping Woods return & more – Dexerto
Fortnite map changes in July 24 update: Weeping Woods return & more Epic Games[jwplayer Puy4UiEa]The water covering the Fortnite map has dropped yet again with Weeping Woods returning back to normal as the standout change. Here, we’ll go over everything else that has been tweaked. Over the course of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 3, the water that once covered pretty much the entirety of the map has started to disappear. As the water has been dropping, areas like Risky Reels have returned to normal while others, such as Sweaty Sands, have been freed quite a bit from the water. Seeing as these changes are made overnight, Epic doesn’t announce whats changed, leaving it up to the fans to explore the battle royale island. Though, if you want to know what locations have changed thanks to the July 24 update, we’ve got you covered. Fortnite map changes – July 24 As already noted, Weeping Woods is back to its original state now that the main lodge has been freed from the water. The water has pretty much returned to its normal state at the are as well. Looking elsewhere, Dirty Docks, Slurpy Swamp, and The Shark have also started to further rise out of the water. Dirty Docks looks about another update away from being completely normal while Slurpy and the Shark might take a little longer. Further afield, the mysterious loot boat that had been circling near the Fortilla has disappeared, while you’ll also need four or five levels of a build to climb over the wall at The Authority. In more teasing changes, Sweaty Sands is also back to normal as roads have started to rise out of the water, while palm trees can also be spotted around what should be the Atlantis POI. You can also dive under the water behind Craggy Cliffs to get a look at the leaked Crash Site POI. However, it’s going to take a few more updates before players can actually set foot on it. Sadly, for anyone hoping that the cars would finally make an appearance, that isn’t the case just yet. Though, some of the gas stations have been further updated and are back to normal. They may come soon, however, as Epic is expected to drop the levels again on July 27. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Fortnite map changes in July 18 update: Craggy Cliffs return and more – Dexerto
Fortnite map changes in July 18 update: Craggy Cliffs return and more Epic Games[jwplayer dDOO1bSy]The water level across the Fortnite map has fallen once again, giving way to a few new map changes. Here, we run you through what’s changed – including the return of Craggy Cliffs. With the start of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 3, the battle royale island was pretty much submerged in water – with only a few fan-favorite landing spots remaining intact. Though, as the season has progressed, the water has started to lower. Back on July 11, we got our first set of really big map changes with quite a decent amount of water lowering and giving Risky Reels back to players as well as some minimal changes that could also be spotted. Now, though, the water has lowered once again but this time, the changes have taken a step forward with the return of Craggy Cliffs and a pretty normal Pleasant Park. Fortnite Map Changes – July 18 The map changes came at around 3 am EST on July 18 with YouTuber Kanga being the first to give fans a summary of what has gone down. The headline change is the return of Craggy Cliffs. The northern point of interest is no longer fully underwater with the majority of buildings being explorable again. However, one or two buildings remain submerged. Pleasant Park and The Authority have also seen interesting changes. Pleasant is back to its original form with the crash pads and water nowhere to be seen. As for The Authority, you will now need another set of stairs to build your way in. On top of those, there are general changes to the amount of water in certain areas. For example, Dirty Docks looks closer to returning while roads near Holly Hedges are more accessible. The Shark is also closer to a return as well but is still pretty submerged. Though, we have lost some of the small islands dotted around the map at points like around Rickety Rig and Slurpy Swamp. All of these changes are seemingly building to the map returning to its normal, non-water based form but that is still some time away. Before we get to that point, cars should be available to drive across the dry roads and bridges that have popped up with leakers noting that the vehicle should drop around July 21.

Fortnite map changes in July 11 update: Risky Reels return & more – Dexerto
Fortnite map changes in July 11 update: Risky Reels return & more Epic Games[jwplayer 1IFYfpxn]The water that has flooded the Fortnite map has dropped, giving way to some map changes – with Risky Reels no longer being covered by the water. After plenty of rumors and lots of speculation, Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 3 got underway with a water theme as the battle royale map became flooded. As a result, new locations like the Fortilla popped up while The Agency was changed to The Authority. Plenty of fan-favorites locations remained but succumbed to the water in one water or another. Pleasant Park, for example, had its houses propped up on floats while part of the road and sidewalks were removed. Others, like Risky Reels, were pretty much completely flooded and became inaccessible to players. However, the water has dropped and new map changes have gone live. Fortnite map changes on July 11 Fortnite players noted that on July 11, Risky Reels is no longer underwater as a result of the water dropping. The drive-in cinema-themed location is back to normal and players can head back there without worrying about the water. On top of that, though, more materials are required to climb your way into The Authority if you try to build from the outside. Obviously, you can take a boat or helicopter and pilot your way in, but if you don’t have access to a vehicle, you might be out of luck. Players have also pointed out that parts of the Rickety Rig islands have disappeared, as too have different spots between Sweaty Sands and Holly Hedges, while Frenzy Farm has less water around as well. Though they’re not fully back, you can also get better glimpses of older spots like Dirty Docks, Weeping Woods, and The Shark. These should return back to normal later in the season. As new changes continue to be uncovered, be sure to check back for a full list of what has changed following the slight reduction in water to the Fortnite map.

Fortnite map changes coming soon as Rift Beacon activates in desert – Dexerto
Fortnite map changes coming soon as Rift Beacon activates in desert DexertoA brand new Rift Beacon has appeared at a different location in Fortnite Battle Royale, hinting at some more major map changes coming in the near future. While many Fortnite fans may have expected Epic Games to roll out the big guns for Season X by overhauling the map or revealing a brand new one, that hasn’t been the case. Instead, the developers have continually updated the points of interest with new twists. Neo Tilted was the first to go, becoming Tilted Town – where nobody can build or break. Then, Mega Mall made way for Retail Row, allowing players to do battle with Fiends in a bid for free loot. The most recent tweak to the landscape saw the indoor soccer pitch destroyed entirely, leaving a crater in its place. These changes have all been pre-impacted by the game’s Rift Beacon moving location, and now, it’s popped up somewhere new. If you drop into a game of Fortnite Battle Royale and head to the southeast portion of the map, specifically towards Trucking Oasis, you’ll get to see the Rift Beacon activated and preparing for destruction. Unlike when the beacon was located by the indoor soccer stadium, this time it is clearly activated and already appears to be drawing energy. However, it’s unknown if there will be more stages to its activation as time goes on. One thing that players can estimate, however, is just how much damage it will do. According to a post from Reddit user EpicrockerTT, the last rift zones have been approximately 250 meters in diameter from the rift beacon’s location. If the same holds true this time around, the Trucking Oasis would be completely destroyed and so too would part of the Western Village that sits towards the ocean. Just how exactly the surrounding area changes, however, is still a mystery as Epic has dished out a number of different looks with the rift zones. We won’t have to wait too long though as the official German Fortnite Twitter account revealed that the v10.20 patch would be coming to the game on Tuesday, August 27 – with downtime starting at 4 am EDT/1am pm PDT/9am BST, and 10 am CEST.

Fortnite map changes from V12.20 update – The Rig, Pleasant Park & more – Dexerto
Fortnite map changes from V12.20 update – The Rig, Pleasant Park & more Epic GamesEpic Games have dropped some map changes on Fortnite following the V12.20 update – with damage to The Rig being the headline tweak. In previous seasons, notably Fortnite Season 10, the whole focus of new updates was on changes to the map so that players had something that was pretty much ever-changing to look forward to. With the start of Fortnite Chapter 2, map changes haven’t been as frequent as they once were but following the V12.20 update in Chapter 2, Season 2, players have got some twists and turns to look forward to once they drop into the battle royale. The Rig The biggest change in this set of map changes comes from The Rig. The location was added at the start of season two and plays into the Top Secret theme as it is home to TNTina – one of the five new boss characters. However, if you drop onto the location now, you’re going to find that plenty of destruction has occurred. Pieces of The Rig have been destroyed and there is twisted metal all over – while plenty of Oil has begun to leak out into the water and head towards Slurpy Swamp. Pleasant Park Elsewhere, any players who drop at Pleasant Park will note that the secret underground bunker that was previously tricky to get into, can now be accessed by the Soccer field. The part of the pitch that was closest towards the middle of Pleasant – where the wooden hut and campfire sit – has parted ways and revealed the secret bunker. The location also has a helipad symbol on the floor too. Full Fortnite map after V12.20 update Perhaps unsurprisingly, the change to Pleasant cannot be seen on the updated battle royale map, but the Oil spill from The Rig is pretty clear to see. If that will have any future effect on the map, however, still remains to be seen, but it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility to consider this a potential hint for future changes from Epic. With more and more players downloading the new update and hopping into Fortnite, there could well be even more tweaks to the map that haven’t been uncovered just yet. If anything else changes, we will be sure to update this article. For now, though, be sure to check out the changes at The Rig and Pleasant for yourself in-game.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 map changes and new locations – Dexerto
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 map changes and new locations Epic GamesFortnite has shaken up the map once again for Chapter 5 Season 4 Absolute Doom, bringing new POI locations, landmarks, and map changes. Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 kicked off on August 16, returning Doctor Doom to the Battle Royale to takeover the island. The iconic character has marked his territory with his Castle Doom POI and more huge Marvel changes dropping onto the map. Epic’s 31.10 update has also unleashed the Doom’s Chosen mythic powers onto the island, which you can obtain by capturing the Isle of Doom floating island. Here’s everything you need to know about all the new POI locations and every change on the Fortnite map for the Marvel-themed Absolute Doom season. Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 new map Season 3 saw a huge sandstorm surge over the Fortnite island as the Wasteland took over the bottom area of the map. However, Chapter 5 Season 4 has focused on the top part of the map and replacing Pleasant Piazza in the southwest. These map updates have centered around Doctor Doom’s takeover of the island, featuring his own Castle Doom POI and various other inspired Doom statues, landmarks, and items across the map. Castle Doom, The Raft, and Doomstadt are the three main newly introduced POIs in Fortnite. However, the landmark Doom’s Courtyard has also been included a named location visible on this season’s map. Every new named location added can be seen on the map above with red markers. Additionally, a massive Galactus head mysteriously appears at the top right of the map, along with a Fantastic Four landmark, which is expected to be related to an upcoming collaboration. Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 new POIs Here’s all the new Chapter 5 Season 4 POI locations: Castle Doom – Doomstadt – The Raft – Doom’s Courtyard (Landmark) – Castle Doom Castle Doom is one of the new POIs placed on the Battle Royale island in Chapter 5 Season 4. This is home to Doctor Doom himself, who has placed the NPC boss Doombot wandering around the location. It is located northeast of the map towards the far corner and has replaced the Classy Courts POI. It is a large castle as well as a forge, which Epic has described: “Its forge burns red as each metal clank rings ever closer to the completion of Doctor Doom’s impervious new armor.” It is not yet known what the ‘impervious new armor’ exactly is and what happens when this is fully crafted. Doomstadt Doomstadt is ruled by Doctor Doom within the Marvel Universe and lands on the island as another sign of his reign during Chapter 5 Season 4. It is a small village with several wooden and stone buildings, as well as a large Doctor Doom statue, which is also featured in a number of places around the map. The Lavish Lair POI which was added at the start of Chapter 5 as a massive manor, has been replaced by the Doomstadt location for this season. There is also a nearby landmark known as the Fractured Four, which features a huge Fantastic Four logo to tease their arrival. The Raft Pleasant Piazza has been replaced by The Raft POI. This prison location is nestled around water as its own secure island, located southwest of the map and directly below The Underworld. Doctor Doom has summoned The Raft to the Island, a prison for supervillains and extraterrestrial threats to be recruited as part of his army. Doom’s henchmen will be found wandering around the location, which when downed they can then be persuaded to fight alongside you during your Battle Royale matches. Doom’s Courtyard (Landmark) Just outside Castle Doom, directly west, is another new location called Doom’s Courtyard. Despite being classed as a landmark instead of a POI by Epic, it is featured as a named location on the island map. The area pays homage to the new leader featuring a large Doctor Doom monument in the middle and is noticeably smaller than the new main POIs. 31.10 update map changes Fortnite’s first major update arriving in Chapter 5 Season 4 has made a big change to the Battle Royale island by bringing Doctor Doom’s Isle of Doom to the map. Isle of Doom The Isle of Doom is a brand-new floating Loot Island that will feature in Fortnite until October 5, 2024. However, the overhauled Loot Island only has between a 5-10% chance of spawning per Battle Royale match, and it won’t show up at all in Ranked matches. You will be notified mid-match before the Isle of Doom is about to spawn and then an icon will appear on your island map with its exact location. Once you’ve arrived, you will find Doom’s Cauldron placed in the center, which you will need to capture to be able to transform into Doom’s Chosen. When Doom’s Chosen is activated, you will receive 500 Health and 500 Shield, unlimited sprint, a Shield Siphon after every elimination, and four brand-new abilities to use. This is why the mythic powers are rare to obtain as they are far superior than any other weapons and items you can get. But, with probability being slim, when it becomes available on the map there will be a surge of players heading over to the floating POI. Make sure you therefore head over quickly and with some strong loot to be able to wipe out any enemies and be the first to transform into Doom’s Chosen. 31.20 update map changes Tony Stark has made quite an impact with this update. Here’s what’s new on the map: Landing Pad Camps Six new landing pad camps have been set up by Tony Stark across the island. You can find them at South of Latverian Station, North of Grim Gate, South of Reckless Railways, West of The Raft, South of Pantheon Path, and North of Nitrodrome. These pods drop randomly during matches and may contain either Stark or War Machine Armories, giving you their full superhero loadout. Iron Man as an NPC Iron Man himself arrived as well. You can find him at the Other Windmill, North of Grim Gate. He’s selling: Stark Rifles – Repulsor Kits – Patch Up – The Marvel villain for this season has also received a reworked skin, Skin styles, and a range of cosmetics within the Absolute Doom Battle Pass as part of the patch. Make sure you keep in the loop with the update by checking out our guides for every NPC location, all the new, unvaulted and vaulted weapons, and where to find each Mythic weapon.

More Fortnite map changes coming following Dusty Divot dig site leak – Dexerto
More Fortnite map changes coming following Dusty Divot dig site leak Epic GamesFortnite’s Dusty Divot area may be set to undergo even more changes than first leaked, according to a new set of data mined game files. Dusty Depot was one of the original locations in Fortnite, remaining in the same spot since Season 1. However, when the meteor rocked the battle royale island back in Season 4, it received a huge overhaul in its look and also changed its name to Dusty Divot – to reference the giant empty hole that the crash had created. It now looks like the popular point of interest may be about receive another set of changes, this time, however, overhauling the whole area as the Fortnite map is braced for a number of changes. What does Epic have planned for Dusty Divot in Fortnite? According to a further leak from popular Fortnite data miner S1l0x, Dusty Divot is set to undergo a huge overhaul – with the changes also affecting the immediate area around the divot. These changes will come through ‘Dig Sites’. The next apparent site is set to be just east of Loot Lake, potentially opening up a pathway for something to flow through under the map or fill up the resulting hole as someone searches for something underground. The other site is set to be within the Dusty Divot itself, but the leaked model for the area is somewhat different from the one at Loot Lake. So, the next dig site will be located near Loot Lake (im. 1), and will look similar to the first (im. 2) and I don’t believe much will be uncovered. The last digsite will take place in the divot (im. 3) and I think we may see something interesting here. pic.twitter.com/eCyTPBwtEF — s1l0x (@s1l0x) March 28, 2019 S1l0x also uncovered a Geyser below the current dig site that is already in the game – located just west of where the normal grass biome meets the desert. It’s currently unknown what role the Geyser will have to play in the map changes, but the data miner also located detailed game files that relate to the almost-buried vent that has now appeared in-game at the site. Ayy, I called it, there was a geyser in the hole! pic.twitter.com/q89f3ZTWeR — s1l0x (@s1l0x) March 28, 2019 It remains to be seen if Epic Games adds these Dig Site changes as part of the planned ‘Dopey’ in-game event or if the changes will just appear as and when they are added in with another update, as a prequel to the event. As with any leak or unofficial reveal of game information, there’s a chance that plans could change for some reason or another. It’s also quite possible that Epic could alter their changes based on the leak.

Fortnite makes no building mode permanent with Zero Build addition – Dexerto
Fortnite makes no building mode permanent with Zero Build addition Epic GamesFollowing the success of Fornite’s no building mode, Epic Games have now made it a permanent feature. Here’s everything you need to know about Fortnite Zero Build. Fortnite Zero Build enables players to duke it out in the popular battle royale without any building mechanics. Instead, competitors must purely rely on their aim and teamplay to claim a dominant victory over their foes. This exciting news comes just days after Epic removed building in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2. The removal of this core mechanic quickly proved incredibly popular amongst content creators and long-time fans. Not only did it make the title more appealing to those who dislike the building aspect of the BR, but it also made Fornite feel like a totally different game. Fortunately, the Fortnite Zero Build mode capitalizes on this new way to play. Fortnite Zero Build removes building permanently Fortnite Zero Build is a permanent side mode that completely removes all building mechanics from the game. The new mode launched on March 29 and can be found on the Discover page as Solo, Duos, Trios, and Squads playlists. Zero Build is a fast-paced BR that focuses purely on gunplay without the game’s core building mechanics. All players have Overshields that can sponge incoming damage, which helps to alleviate any problems that come from the lack of defensive building. Additionally, Tactical Sprinting, Mantling, and zip wires have been added to help offer plenty of movement mechanics. Zero Build will instantly be familiar to those who enjoyed the no build event at the beginning of Chapter 3 Season 2. So, whether you’re a new player or Fortnite veteran, the game’s permanent side mode will likely prove popular. Be sure to give Zero Build a go and squad up for some frantic firefights, where your aim and game sense is key to victory.

Fortnite players divided over Mammoth Pistol nerf – Dexerto
Fortnite players divided over Mammoth Pistol nerf Epic GamesThe latest Fortnite patch added balance adjustments that nerf the Mammoth Pistol, a change that seems pretty polarizing among players. Epic Games brought the Mammoth Pistol to Fortnite in Patch 25.20, introducing a new weapon that could obliterate foes in just one shot. To the surprise of no one, the arguably overpowered pistol quickly proved divisive amongst players. Some argued that the weapon “completely broke the game,” especially since its high damage with headshots and body shots could pretty much bring anyone to their knees. Others felt that despite being overpowered, the Mammoth Pistol still counted as a fun addition to the game. And many on both sides of the argument agreed it needed a balance adjustment. However, the reaction from the community suggests Epic’s recent changes may have gone a bit too far. Fortnite players torn over nerf to OP Mammoth Pistol After rolling out Fortnite Update 25.30, Epic announced that some adjustments were made to the Mammoth Pistol. The pistol now deals “slightly reduced damage at long distances,” as well as “slightly reduced headshot damage,” the developer revealed on social media. Responses to the above post indicate some Fortnite fans are more than pleased with this update. Wrote one user, “Great changes. A slight reduction in spawn rate would also be awesome!” Said someone else, “thank god it was busted AF – definitely died randomly to this weapon.” Meanwhile, there are those who think Epic should take things a step further by removing Fortnite’s Mammoth Pistol outright. “Just remove it,” reads one replay. “Hahahahahaha remove this thing,” says another.” Several responses show the player reaction is mixed at best, however. Replies to the Fortnite Status tweet are filled with comments saying, “L,” asking “why,” and wondering how some could be happy about the news. The comment section on a similar post from Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR appears to feature more fans who are upset about the adjustments. “Can’t allow a gun to be good, I guess,” reads a tweet from one person. A different post says, “This weapon was literally the best addition to the game, and now it’s useless. Kudos to the developers for spoiling the fun.” It’ll be interesting to see how the Mammoth Pistol fares in the long run compared to Fortnite’s other newly added weapons.

Fortnite makes critical changes to Black Panther Claws and War Machine’s Hover Jet – Dexerto
Fortnite makes critical changes to Black Panther Claws and War Machine’s Hover Jet Epic GamesAfter a week of struggling to find any success with Shuri’s Black Panther Claws, Fortnite responded with a much-needed buff. The update also adjusts the spawn rate of War Machine’s Hover Jet. Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 allows players to step into the shoes of their favorite Marvel superheroes thanks to several iconic weapons joining the battlefield. This includes War Machine’s Arsenal, Captain America’s Shield, Black Panther claws, and more. Some Mythic items have performed better than others. For example, Epic Games nerfed Captain America’s shield and War Machine’s Arsenal after plays combined both weapons, making it far too difficult for enemies to take them down. Meanwhile, the same can’t be said about the new Black Panther Claws. Players labeled them “useless” in the current meta. Most complaints pointed toward the melee weapon failing to compete with other powerful close-and medium-ranged guns. Epic responded by increasing the sprint speed and allowing players to pounce on enemies at longer ranges while using Shuri’s Black Panther Claws. In addition, the Mythic item is now available in Chests and through floor loot. This change also impacts the drop rate of War Machine’s Hover Jet because the Mythic will drop slightly less frequently from Avengers Chests. This increases the chance for other Avenger items, including Shuri’s Black Panther Claws. Despite getting buffed, we still expect the weapon to struggle against the battle royale’s heaviest hitters. That’s because the Dual Micro SMGs are the fastest-firing weapons in the game, and the Gatekeeper Shotgun deals massive damage up close. And for longer-ranged fights, it will be hard to close any distance on the laser-accurate Striker Burst Rifle. In saying that, Shuri’s Black Panther Claws will finally feel more viable than before and could even surprise players with how strong they have become. For more on which weapons stand out the most in Fortnite, check out our weapon tier list.

Fortnite gets major XP changes after Season 8 complaints – Dexerto
Fortnite gets major XP changes after Season 8 complaints Epic GamesFortnite players will now see major XP changes in the battle royale after Epic Games revaluated the amount of experience Shared (NPC) Quests reward, answering many Season 8 complaints in the process. Chapter 2 Season 8 has been a bit tedious for players since the Fortnite devs introduced Punchcards, among other changes. Experience Points (XP) were set up in a way that would dish out a consistent amount throughout the season. For some Fortnite players, this meant the XP-well would run dry sooner than expected. While consistent players could grind to reach lvl 200, other people were left with few options to keep up. Epic took that feedback and implemented XP buffs in patch 18.10, but are now giving Fortnite players another lifeline to hold onto. Fortnite XP update Fortnite’s new XP update will change the values for Shared Quests from Common (2,500 XP) increasing to Legendary (3,750 XP). The complete list of Fortnite XP update changes can be found below. Common: 2,500 XP – Green square Uncommon: 2,650 XP – Blue square Rare: 2,750 XP – Purple square Epic: 2,900 XP – Orange square Legendary: 3,750 XP – In late September, Epic said that “XP gained in Battle Royale this season isn’t where we’d like it to be” and would be making a few changes to address player complaints. With updates to everything from Daily Punchcard missions to Shared Quests, this is going to help close the XP gap in the progress bar to keep the levels coming. Reactions from the Fortnite community are beaming. The recent changes to the game’s XP attracting plenty of people’s attention. We’ve recently updated Shared Quests to reward more XP. New values: ⬜ Common: 2,500 XP 🟩 Uncommon: 2,650 XP 🟦 Rare: 2,750 XP 🟪 Epic: 2,900 XP 🟧 Legendary: 3,750 XP pic.twitter.com/VmWxqEHlMP— Fortnite Status (@FortniteStatus) October 6, 2021 “Pretty solid changes,” user ‘Pat_Scamander’ said. “At their peak, quick challenges used to give 2.2k XP x 3 challenges per game. “Now you can pick up as many challenges as you like AND the lowest stage offers 300XP more than peak XP quick challenges. Good changes at last.” As Fortnite Season 8 continues, we’ll see if the major changes to XP will be enough to assuage concerns from some players.

Fortnite makes Chain of Hades even more OP with unexpected buff – Dexerto
Fortnite makes Chain of Hades even more OP with unexpected buff Epic GamesEpic Games just rolled out a mini-update for Fortnite that gives the Chain of Hades a significant buff, making it even more over-powered. Fortnite added the Chain of Hades, an Epic rarity melee weapon, as the third installment to Fortnite mythology theme. Next to the Wings of Icarus and Zeus’ Lightning Bolt which can all be found in either God Chests or through regular loot. Every aspect of the Chain of Hades received a buff, including the alternative ability that allows the user to pull the enemy closer when thrown. The exact damage changes are as follows: First Hit: 40 → 55 Damage – Second Hit: 40 → 55 Damage – Third Hit: 70 → 80 Damage – Hookshot (Secondary attack): 40 → 60 Damage – Unlike the Wings of Icarus, Zeus’ Lightning Bolt, and the recently added Waterbending Scroll, the Chain of Hades does not have a reload or cooldown. This means that players can continuously swing the chain without repercussions. The Chain of Hades, which was already considered a “broken” weapon before the buff, could potentially become the go-to weapon. Especially when playing Fortnite’s Zero Build mode which removes the ability to hide from the might of Hades. “I’ve been winning games with Chains of Hades all season, they just buffed it for no reason. Thanks Epic I will take these EASIER wins now. It now can do your full HP in Zero Builds.” said one commenter. This buff is just one part of the recent adjustments made to Fortnite within this mini-update. Other weapons like the Frenzy Shotgun, Hand Cannon, and Snipers were all given some form of attention as well. But the buff to the Chain of Hades will most definitely change the meta for both Battle Royale modes.

Fortnite storm bug making players lose matches set to be patched – Dexerto
Fortnite storm bug making players lose matches set to be patched Epic GamesA new bug in Fortnite is making it pretty much impossible for console players to see in the Storm, costing them wins and causing a lot of frustration – but it shouldn’t be too much longer before a fix is released. Fortnite Season 6 has received almost universal praise from players. Features like tameable animals, new locations on the map, and the long-awaited weapon crafting system, in particular, seem to have gone down very well. As with any new season update, though, there are bugs to be found. The biggest one at the moment concerns the Storm, as some console players are struggling to see anything when they’re inside of it – and it’s often costing them the game. Fortnite players can’t see in the Storm As fans of Fortnite already know, the Storm constantly shrinks throughout a match, and getting caught in it will cause your health to slowly drain. So naturally, if that happens, the aim is to get out of it as fast as possible. A bug that arrived with the Season 6 update is making that quite difficult, as many players are now discovering that they can’t see anything when they’re inside the Storm, which is having a significant impact on the game. As well as not being able to see where they’re going to get out of the Storm, the reduction in visibility means they can’t see their opponents. Both of these issues are leading to players dying early and costing them wins. A temporary workaround is available for PC players by turning Performance Mode on, but this actually removes the Storm effect almost entirely, leaving them at a significant advantage over console players who don’t have Performance Mode. A post on the Fortnite subreddit from EzBugatti99 shows a visibility comparison between Performance Mode being switched on or off. It’s got almost 10k upvotes and hundreds of comments from people experiencing the same problem. “This desperately needs to be fixed. It’s impossible to see in the Storm if you aren’t on PC,” said one player, while another explained, “I got a kid down to like 15hp the other day, but we were in the Storm so we both ended up dying because we couldn’t see each other.” Some players used the post to argue that console crossplay shouldn’t include PC, with one Reddit user writing that the bug is “further proof that crossplay with PC benefits no one besides PC players” and another adding, “Oh wow, Epic once again catering to PC players. I’m shocked.” Storm visibility issues set to be fixed While Epic had previously acknowledged that they were looking into the issue with the storm visibility, they’ve now confirmed that the issue will be fixed in the game’s next update. According to the developer’s Trello board, the storm visibility issue has now been labeled as “fixed in the next game update,” with that update of course being 16.10, which is set to be the first major patch for Fortnite after its Season 6 release over a week ago. Epic has already revealed that update 16.10 will be dropping during the week of March 29, 2021, so fans won’t have to wait too much longer to be able to properly see within the storm. Until then, however, they’ll just have to deal with it.

Fortnite: Major hint from Creative Director points to mystery of Dragon Eggs being revealed soon – Dexerto
Fortnite: Major hint from Creative Director points to mystery of Dragon Eggs being revealed soon The Fortnite Battle Royale community has picked up on a major hint that the mystery around the Dragon Eggs may soon be revealed. The mysterious Dragon Eggs are currently being housed in a dungeon area located below the Ice Castle on Polar Peak, and many players believe that some event may soon take place down there. There are several reasons why players are theorizing this, the main one of which is the fact that Donald Mustard, Creative Director of Fortnite at Epic Games, has set is location on Twitter to ‘The Dungeon.’ Now this may not seem like something concrete to go by, except for the fact that Mustard has previously used the Twitter location tool to foreshadow things in Fortnite. In early November, he had his location set to ‘The In-Between,’ which ended up being a reference to the Cube/Butterfly event that took place in-game. Prior to the release of Season 7, his location was set to ‘The Iceberg,’ a clear teaser of what was to come. Originally covered in ice and snow, more and more areas of the castle were revealed and became accessible to players once it all started melting, and the most recent area was the underground dungeon that houses the Dragon Eggs. The popular theory now is that these eggs will ultimately hatch to become full-fledged Dragons that will act as vehicles in the game, and there seems to be extra attention being paid, as of late, to the dungeon area where they are held. There has to be a reason for why Epic Games decided to make this particular location ever-changing, and it could very well be that they are biding their time to unfold something groundbreaking. It will be well worth keeping an eye on the Ice Castle, especially the dungeon area, to see if there are any changes made to the location or the Dragon Eggs themselves.

Fortnite: Major “rebalancing” changes to Shotguns in upcoming update – Dexerto
Fortnite: Major “rebalancing” changes to Shotguns in upcoming update Fortnite Design Lead at Epic Games, Eric Williamson, has detailed changes to shotguns that are planned for the upcoming v6.31 update, which will be music to the ears of many players. Shotguns have been possibly the most contentious weapon types in Fortnite, considered overpowered and then underpowered over six seasons worth of changes. Fixes to prevent ‘double pump’ (where players could switch rapidly between two shotguns to eliminate the ‘pump’ animation), nerfs to damage and range, and the addition of powerful SMG’s, have all left Shotguns feeling neglected in Fortnite. Although there was certainly issues with Shotguns being over used at close range previously, many players feel Epic Games went too far in the other direction, but Williamson and the team are looking to address this. Posting on Twitter on November 20, Williamson says the changes will rebalance the Pump Shotgun to “improve effectiveness”, plus a major change to the damage output of all shotguns. They will now have a minimum damage of three pellets – even if only two pellets hit – which should all but eliminate the inconsistency which players often experience using pellet based weapons. The upcoming 6.31 update will include a Pump Shotgun rebalance to improve effectiveness: damage will increase in close quarters and range will be reduced slightly. Additionally, ALL shotguns will have a minimum damage of 3 pellets (even if only 1 or 2 hit). — Eric Williamson (@erwil9) November 20, 2018 The upcoming 6.31 update will include a Pump Shotgun rebalance to improve effectiveness: damage will increase in close quarters and range will be reduced slightly. Additionally, ALL shotguns will have a minimum damage of 3 pellets (even if only 1 or 2 hit). Williamson further clarified how damage will work with the rebalanced shotguns in response to a user on Reddit who was worried that the damage would still be too low. How to compete in Fortnite’s $1 million Winter Royale open competitionThe other shotguns (tactical, double barrel and heavy), will presumably now compete better with SMG’s at close range, and should always win against an Assault Rifle. This is the kind of change which players have been vocal about, and although further tweaks will likely be needed, many will see it as a step in the right direction.

Fortnite makes major change to Team Rumble LTM and no one knows why – Dexerto
Fortnite makes major change to Team Rumble LTM and no one knows why Epic GamesFortnite LTM Team Rumble, which sent a wave of confusion to the battle royale’s community as to why such a change would be made. The Fortnite devs landed on an instant fan-favorite when they initially launched Team Tumble on November 27, 2018. While the mode has had its problems in the past, it’s always been a fun option to drop into and be apart of sheer chaos. With that said, players have been having a hard time trying to see why the devs would change the mode considering it was in a good state for what it offered players. In a July 10 announcement, the Epic Games developers gave their players a heads up on an immediate change that’s going to be cutting some of the fun out in the big team battle for a lot of players. “The elimination goal in Team Rumble has been decreased from 150 to 100 to shorten match length,” the Fortnite team announced. The elimination goal in Team Rumble has been decreased from 150 to 100 to shorten match length. — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) July 10, 2019 The developers didn’t give an official reason for why the sudden change has occurred, leaving the community to speculate the possibilities for the lowered kill goal. The answer could lie in the Epic Games devs trying to eliminate early leavers who would just jump into the mode to finish up a quick challenge or two, and lowering the kill cap would effectively narrow the window for that happening. Yet the announcement was met with players on both sides of the aisle who wouldn’t mind seeing a revert to the new development. “People who are using the code for purposes of reaching level 100 or to get challenges done,” Twitter user ‘Bruceleewataahh’ replied to someone asking why the change happened. “Basically the mode is being tailored to those people because they make complaints. Epics lack of research makes them gullible enough to think people actually want the cap to decrease. Similarly, some people think that the developers should focus their attentions of the root cause of the change: “People leave the match anyways… do something about that instead.” As it stands, Team Rumble will be the frenzy of a mode that players are already used to, but the fun might end sooner than expected.

Fortnite: Major balancing updates set to come in v7.20 Content Update, including more items being vaulted – Dexerto
Fortnite: Major balancing updates set to come in v7.20 Content Update, including more items being vaulted Some important changes to Fortnite Battle Royale look to be on the way with the upcoming v7.20 update set to be released later this week. With every Fortnite update, Epic Games introduces a number of changes and it looks like the upcoming v7.20 will be no different. In addition to more weapons being added to the Vault, items and vehicles will be seeing some major changes with this update. Epic Games Design Lead Eric Williamson Tweeted out a quick update letting everyone know just what they could expect once the update finally drops. Coming this week: small tweaks to shield availability, a reduction of mobility (item & vehicle spawn chance), and a few more vaults… including Quad Launcher. — Eric Williamson (@erwil9) January 21, 2019 Perhaps most importantly, tweaks will be made to the availability of shields, which has become a major talking point within the community over the last week. With Glider Redeploy being added in as an item, players have noticed that the loot pool has become a bit diluted, making the ever important shields far less likely to show up. Epic has clearly listened and will be adjusting shields to hopefully bring them more in line with how they were before last week’s update. More than that, both mobility items and vehicle spawns will be seeing changes, which is yet another thing the community should no doubt be happy to see. Given the negativity surrounding the infamous X-4 Stormwing, having it spawn less should be welcomed news to the community. Last, but not least, the Quad Launcher will officially be vaulted with tomorrow’s update. That’s not it, though, as Williamson said that “a few more vaults” will be coming with the update, meaning that players should get time in with their favorite weapons and items before it hits since there’s no telling what might be vaulted. The update will arrive at the normal time of 5am PST / 8am EST / 1pm GMT on Tuesday, January 22. As always, be sure to follow us on Twitter @Dexerto for all the latest updates on everything Fortnite-related.

Fortnite makes major change to aim assist in upcoming 10.40 update – Dexerto
Fortnite makes major change to aim assist in upcoming 10.40 update Epic GamesEpic Games revealed major changes are coming to aim assist with Fortnite v10.40 that will completely overhaul the current system. A hot topic of debate in the Fortnite pro community has been whether aim assist with controllers is too powerful. Beginning with update 10.40, Fortnite will be removing the ability to snap to targets, also known as “left trigger spam” which means aim assist as we know is no more and this will definitely be sending a ripple effect through the community. “We have also removed the ability to use target snapping (aka “Left trigger spam”),” said Epic in a blog post. “With these new Aim Assist improvements, we no longer feel it’s necessary.” These new improvements they speak of refer to a new weighting algorithm that takes into account targets in screen space and the target’s distance from the reticle. Epic explains this will help fix an auto-aim problem where another enemy comes into your frame and steals away the aim assist. Another big change is your crosshairs will now turn red on an enemy when they are in effective range, which means any point before damage drop-off is applied. The kneejerk reaction by many players will be this is a huge nerf to controller players, who were already at a major disadvantage when compared to PC players using mouse and keyboard. Of course, time will tell if the change is actually good in the longterm. On top of these changes, Epic overhauled the sensitivity options too. Players will now have the ability to change their ADS sensitivities which will help them finetune their aiming when scoped in, resulting in a big change to their accuracy and they determine which setting works best for them. Finally, a new Combine playlist is being added which will act as a training ground to test out all of these changes. Players will be able to compete with their friends to come away with the highest score possible. All of these changes will go live later this week, possibly September 26, when v10.40 releases.

Star Wars’ Luke Skywalker could drop into Fortnite soon – Dexerto
Star Wars’ Luke Skywalker could drop into Fortnite soon Details found in a Fortnite datamine indicate that Luke Skywalker of Star Wars fame will soon land on the Island. Fortnite has played host to Star Wars-related content updates in the past. One such update went live just last month in time for Star Wars Day, reintroducing several Lightsabers and non-Battle Pass Outfits. The 21.10 update that Epic Games deployed on June 21 added Darth Vader to the mix, allowing players to face off against the Sith Lord for a chance at wielding his Lightsaber. Recent rumors claimed the likes of Han Solo, Leia Organa, and Luke Skywalker would enter the fray by 2023, as well. Now another noteworthy piece of information has surfaced to partially support the claim. Luke Skywalker could be coming to Fortnite According to leaker FNBRintel, Fortnite’s 21.20 patch added a Lightsaber for Luke with the codename of “NPC” attached. FNBRintel posits that if Luke Skywalker does join the fun as a non-playable character, he’ll serve the same function as Darth Vader. As such, the fan-favorite character could arrive as a boss that users must fight in order to earn his Lightsaber. Luke Skywalker could be coming to Fortnite sooner then we think! In the latest update a new/updated lightsaber got added for him with the codename “”NPC”” so his NPC could work similar to how the Darth Vader one currently does! #Fortnite pic.twitter.com/GhCwORIffQ — FNBRintel (@FNBRintel) June 21, 2022 At the time of writing, Epic Games has yet to so much as hint at Luke Skywalker joining the battle royale in any capacity. The studio’s ongoing silence about the supposed Star Wars update means there’s no official word on when Fortnite players can expect the alleged Luke Skywalker content to become available. For now, Epic Games’ focus remains squared on pushing out another major crossover event – Naruto Rivals. The Naruto Shippuden-themed content goes live on Thursday, June 23, adding four beloved members of Team 7 to the game – Gaara, Hinata Hyuga, Itachi Uchiha, and Orochimaru.

Fortnite: Major balancing changes coming in third v7.10 content update, including the return of a vaulted weapon – Dexerto
Fortnite: Major balancing changes coming in third v7.10 content update, including the return of a vaulted weapon The final v7.10 content update is set to go live in Fortnite Battle Royale soon and it’s due to add some new content and bring major changes to the game. Epic Games have announced that the latest content update will go live on Tuesday, January 8 at 5 AM PT / 8 AM ET / 1 PM GMT. There is no mention of any downtime, which content updates usually don’t have anyway, but if there is to be downtime then matchmaking would likely get disabled 20-25 minutes prior. The update was announced on January 7 via a post on the official Fortnite Twitter page, which reads: “Unseen and unheard… a stealthy new addition arrives to Battle Royale. Sneak up on enemies in the final v7..10 Content Update.” Unseen & Unheard…A stealthy new addition arrives to Battle Royale :shushing: Sneak up on enemies in the final v7.10 Content Update. Available tomorrow, January 8 at 8 AM ET(1300 UTC)! — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) January 7, 2019 The “stealthy new addition” mentioned above refers to the brand new Suppressed Sniper Rifle that was announced in-game earlier on January 7. The new sniper, which will be the first of its kind in Fortnite, will be of the bolt-action variety but feature a suppressor that silences all sound when fired, giving the shooting player the major advantage of stealth. According to Eric Williamson, the Design Lead for Fortnite at Epic Games, v7.10 will introduce tweaks to the Boom Box, X-4 Stormwing plane, and Dynamite explosive. Read More: Equalizer Glider warns of nuclear missile launch in what could be first teaser for Season 8 – Not only that, the Dual Pistols will be unvaulted and returned to the core default modes of the game. The Dual Pistols were first introduced during Season 4 but vaulted midway through Season 6 when the developers realized that they were being heavily underused by the player-base. The fact that the weapon is being reestablished could mean that the developers have made improvements to its effectiveness, although that remains to be seen. Balance adjustments coming with 7.10 content update: tweaks to Boom Box, X-4 Stormwing, and Dynamite. And… Dual Pistols make their return! — Eric Williamson (@erwil9) January 7, 2019 In addition to all that, players can also expect new cosmetic items to be added to the game files for release in the upcoming days and weeks. Data miners will likely look for and leak any of those cosmetics shortly after the update goes live. Make sure to follow us @Dexerto and keep an eye on the Dexerto Fortnite page for the full patch notes and details about all new additions, changes, and leaks after the update goes live.

Fortnite’s LTM Creator Contest: Everything you need to know – Dexerto
Fortnite’s LTM Creator Contest: Everything you need to know Epic GamesEpic Games are giving Fortnite players the chance to have their very own Limited Time Mode ideas showcased in the battle royale game through the LTM Creator Contest. The contest was launched on March 21, looking for the newest in-game LTM to join the ranks of Team Rumble, Solid Gold, 50v50 and their newest addition The Floor is Lava, which each have a different limited time spin on the normal battle royale game. So, here’s everything you need to know about Epic Games’ new LTM Creator Contest. What can be created? Epic Games have already laid out a detailed set of guidelines for creators to follow, with only a few limitations on what they can create. Game modes must allow for a minimum of four players and a maximum of 16, but there are no boundaries on how players can be split up. The best creations will also last between 10 and 20 minutes and have plenty of replayability so that players continue to play the mode more than once. Apart from that, fans can go nuts and create anything they like – just as long as it’s fun to play. What is the prize for the winner? As well as having the glory of their new LTM added to Fortnite for others to play, the winning creator will also be added to the Support a Creator program – if they are not already a member. Being a part of the Support a Creator program gives Fortnite creators a unique code that fans can use when purchasing cosmetics from the item shop. Inputting the code with their purchase will give a little bit back to the creator – allowing fans to show their support. What details do you need to submit? A YouTube video, the length of which has not been specified, showing off a fly-through of the game mode idea and an overhead view of the whole thing is needed in the submission. Entries must include the creator’s Discord name and email address so that players can be contacted with ease. The game’s title and a description will also be required, of course – judges will need to know what they’re playing and how to play it. When is the closing date? Players will have until April 8 at 11:59PM ET (April 9, 03:59AM GMT) before Epic closes the competition. All entries must be submitted to the official submission Google form once the creation is finished and ready. Read More: Fortnite update v8.20 to address numerous bugs and performance issues – Potential patch notes – There’s no date for when the winner will be announced. Although Epic says the winning LTM will be released “shortly” after. However, with a huge number of submissions likely to be made, it may take some time before they settle on a decision. Unlike submissions for The Block, there is no limit on the amount of memory that can be used with the modes. So, let your imagination run wild and may the best creator win!

Fortnite Looks Certain To Release on Nintendo Switch Following Another Major Leak – Dexerto
Fortnite Looks Certain To Release on Nintendo Switch Following Another Major Leak A second major leak about Fortnite coming to Nintendo Switch is the strongest evidence yet, as a logo image file was uploaded to the Nintendo eShop. Fans have been speculating about the potential for Fortnite on the Switch since the game’s release, and rumors sparked after a supposed Nintendo E3 promotional document was leaked, with Fortnite on the list. However, fake or doctored conference itineraries and promotional materials are often circulated ahead of E3 to purposely ‘leak’ information about game releases, so many took this first tease with a generous helping of salt. But this initial leak is now looking significantly more reliable after an image of Fortnite’s logo was uploaded the Nintendo eShop, along with an update to the store preparing for release. Nintendo’s E3 conference is set to take place on Tuesday 12th June, but their big announcement for Fortnite may well have been spoiled after this update was spotted and posted to social media. Twitter user @SciresM posted two images, showing both the update file to the store and the image which was uploaded – very clearly a Fortnite promotional image. Tired: Revealing new games during an E3 presentation Wired: Announcing new games by pushing an update for them to the eShop. pic.twitter.com/Nwzi2v6fWN — Michael (@SciresM) June 5, 2018 According to the previous leak of the E3 document, other as yet unannounced Switch games such as Dragon Ball FighterZ are also set to be coming to the popular Nintendo console. As for Fortnite, a Switch release would be a no brainer, given its already successful release on mobile (iOS devices only currently), and the Switch console is still gaining popularity. Many PS4/Xbox an PC players might even download the game again for their Switch console if they own both, allowing them to play Fortnite on the go – a good middle ground between playing on mobile.

Fortnite Loot Lake orb about to explode ahead of Season 10 launch – Dexerto
Fortnite Loot Lake orb about to explode ahead of Season 10 launch FNBR / Epic GamesFortnite Season 10 is nearly upon us and we appear set for a major map change as the Loot Lake orb looks like it could explode at any moment now. The conclusion of the Monster vs. Mech event left a lot more unanswered questions in Fortnite than it did answered ones. Yes, the map was saved from the monster, but it still tried to rip open the Loot Lake vault to unlock the power. Now it looks like whatever power that is being held in the orb is about to be unleashed on the map. Map overhauls are common at the start of a new season and all signs are pointing to yet another one at the start of Season 10, or even slightly before it if this orb explodes. Loot Lake has received a lot of changes over the course of Fortnite’s life but this upcoming one could be the most major one yet. Right now, if you head to the orb in Loot Lake you’ll see it’s becoming increasingly unstable and looks like it could blow at any second. It’s clearly building up to some sort of event but we don’t yet know what that consists of. There’s no telling what will happen once this happens orb does finish doing whatever it’s doing, but with Season 10 right on the horizon, we’d at the very least expect Loot Lake to undergo some changes. THE ORB IN LOOT LAKE IS ABOUT TO EXPLODE :O!!pic.twitter.com/AEMR9XPzty — HYPEX – Fortnite Leaks & News (@HYPEX) July 24, 2019 When does Season 10 start? We haven’t received an actual start date for Season 10 from Epic Games yet but many suspect it to begin shortly after the conclusion of the Fortnite World Cup Finals that take place July 26-28 The common assumption so far is August 1 but without official word, you’ll have to take that with a grain of salt. Seasons generally last about three months so we’re definitely close to the start of a new season very shortly.

Fortnite devs assure players Locker UI fixes are coming after complaints – Dexerto
Fortnite devs assure players Locker UI fixes are coming after complaints Epic GamesFortnite Chapter 5 changed the Locker UI and fans were far from happy, but developers promise that fixes are in the works. The Locker-related changes added to Fortnite Chapter 5 did a number on the user interface. For one, the updated system removed special backgrounds for special rarity skins. Players also expressed disappointment in the overhaul of loadouts. This upset spread across social media and found its way to many Reddit threads, where fans argued that Fortnite’s new Locker ruined the thrill of changing outfits and switching characters. Evidently, Epic Games paid close attention to these complaints and others based on a new statement. Epic says fixes are coming for Fortnite’s despised Locker UI Fortnite news source and leaker HYPEX has shared a statement from the developers that addresses ongoing Locker complaints. Speaking to the feedback, the statement promises that developers are “working on it.” Fortnite players can expect improvements to go live over the course of “the next few updates,” the message continues. At the time of writing, there’s no concrete timeline for when the updates in question will begin rolling out. As mentioned above, the all-new Locker UI launched alongside Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 in early December. In addition to these changes, the update also unleashed five hostile bosses, Match Quests in replace of Daily Quests, and a new map. Arguably the biggest update came in the form of three brand-new game modes – LEGO, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival. The reworked Locker system has, thus far, served as the most disappointing aspect of the Chapter 5 content for many.

Fortnite players say new Lock-On Pistol is basically an aimbot gun – Dexerto
Fortnite players say new Lock-On Pistol is basically an aimbot gun Epic GamesA server-side update recently introduced the Lock-On Pistol to Fortnite, which some players are already calling an aimbot gun. As fun as Fortnite can be, there are those who find the moment-to-moment action a little difficult to manage. After all, aiming and firing off shots in the heat of battle requires a decent amount of skill, especially for console players. Features like aim assist were designed to help in this regard. However, console users who find themselves up against PC players in cross-play sessions may still feel at a disadvantage. The jury’s out on whether Fortnite’s newest weapon will prove even more beneficial to those who want a little more assistance. Fortnite users consider the new Lock-On Pistol an aimbot gun Earlier today, Epic Games rolled out an update that introduces a new gun to Fortnite. Dubbed the Lock-On Pistol, the firearm in question can track and lock onto a target’s movements. TikTok user birdotv showcased the pistol in a quick video, highlighting why it’ll be ideal for “someone with bad aim.” As demonstrated in the video below, the Lock-On Pistol can lock onto a target up to 50 feet away. It’s also able to continue tracking enemy players when they move into hiding spots like leaf piles. Unsurprisingly, some Fortnite fans are already skeptical of the Lock-On Pistol. In response to Fortnite leaker HYPEX’s post on the update, one Twitter user wrote, “Now I can have aimbot and not get banned.” Other comments were quick to identify it as an “aimbot gun.” Said one person in the comments of birdotv’s video, “bro, they made console aim assist a gun.” The new weapon has also been likened to the Smart Pistol in TitanFall and Skippy in Cyberpunk 2077. Both more or less guarantee direct hits against targets. (Although, Skippy’s effectiveness becomes questionable based on player choice.) It’ll be interesting to see how Fortnite faithful take to the Lock-On Pistol after it’s been in action for a while.

Bizarre Fortnite glitch places llamas in a compromising position – Dexerto
Bizarre Fortnite glitch places llamas in a compromising position Epic GamesWhile navigating the map, an unsuspecting Fortnite player stumbled across a bizarre glitch involving a pair of llamas and strange noises. Like most games, Fortnite boasts more than its fair share of in-game hiccups, with glitches that range from annoying to hilarious. Some errors prove easy enough to ignore, serving as little more than a minor nuisance for most players. These issues usually come in the form of the occasional framerate hitch or graphical bug. Of course, NPCs often wind up on the receiving end of weird technical troubles, too. But one, in particular, has raised quite a few eyebrows in the Fortnite Battle Royale subreddit. Llamas feature in odd an Fortnite glitch During a battle royale match, Reddit user Gacha_guy heard a series of strange noises and decided to investigate. The player got more than they bargained for upon finding the source. In a gameplay clip shared by the Redditor, two llamas can be seen rolling around in the grass – in very close proximity. It’s a compromising position for the pair to be found in to say the least. But, who knows, maybe they were just dancing? Regardless of what the llamas were up to, this certainly counts among Fortnite’s most bizarre glitches. At the time of writing, there’s no word on whether this issue is an isolated incident. Still, players may want to keep an eye and an ear out for sights and sounds involving peculiar behavior from Fortnite’s llama population. Llama-related weirdness aside, Fortnite continues to evolve in new and interesting ways. The newly released 21.30 update, for example, introduced the Prime Shotgun, UI adjustments, and the Player Marker Device. And if recently circulating fan theories prove accurate, a Transformers crossover of some kind could be in the works, too.

These tasks come in the form of challenges that offer up significant amounts of XP as a reward so that your battle pass can rocket up in levels. The newest set, Location Domination, is a bit of a grind but if you managed to tick off set one, well, set two is on the way and there is close to 1,000,000 XP to be earned. Fortnite Location Domination challenges set two The new set of challenges were revealed by reliable Fortnite iFireMonkey, who noted that the challenges would be going live on Thursday, May 14. Obviously, getting every challenge done and claiming all 900,000 XP will be a pretty monumental task but it’ll be well worth it if you’re desperate to level up your battle pass and claim some much-needed cosmetics.

Fortnite leak reveals big TikTok crossovers coming for Addison Rae, Loren Gray & more – Dexerto
Fortnite leak reveals big TikTok crossovers coming for Addison Rae, Loren Gray & more Epic Games; Instagram: Addison RaeFortnite is surveying players about possible future collaborations in the game – and some of them are wild. Massively popular battle royale title Fortnite has apparently sent a survey to some of its players about potential collaborations they should have with other properties and brands… and the list is incredibly eccentric. Of course, Fortnite is well-known for its massive collaborations, having partnered with properties like the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Star Wars. However, some players are getting a bit tired of seeing characters from these same properties being recycled. Which could be why Epic Games is looking for new collaborations to freshen up Fortnite. Potential Fortnite collaborations Fortnite leaker Guille_GAG recently revealed a survey they had received from Epic Games. The survey lists around 200 potential brands, characters, and franchises that could be brought into Fortnite in some way. Guille_GAG notes that some of the listed possibilities had already been added to Fortnite, such as Deathstroke and Indiana Jones. As a result, it is possible that more of these properties, characters, and people could be added to Fortnite in the future. The list of potential collaborations is not only extensive, it also crosses different types of media. While Fortnite is best known for crossing over with television, movies, and other video games, it has added influencers such as Ninja and Chica. I was recently sent an updated survey by Epic with possible upcoming collaborations! 👀 Some of these include ones we have already received, so it means they take these into consideration. Which ones would you like to see come to the game? pic.twitter.com/a4N6MBNws2 — Fortnite News (@Guille_GAG) June 18, 2022 But some of these possible collaborations seem to be out of character for Fortnite. While a Dragon Ball Z collaboration would be well-received, it’s hard to imagine that the same would be said for Riverdale, How I Met Your Mother, or Sarah Silverman. Already, Fortnite players are weighing in on their picks for a potential collaboration. Transformers and Evangelion, as well as many of the listed anime series, are among the most popular choices in Guille_GAG’s replies. Epic Games has not yet confirmed that any of these collaborations are in the works. Fortnite fans will have to be patient if they want to see Spongebob Squarepants in the game.

Fortnite’s new Lizzo-inspired Emote will pump you up – Dexerto
Fortnite’s new Lizzo-inspired Emote will pump you up Epic GamesThe Pump Me Up emote in Fortnite features moves by Jaedan Gomez, who took inspiration from Lizzo’s “About Damn Time” single. TikTok star Jaedan Gomez went viral a few months ago for her “About Damn Time” dance. In addition to inspiring countless others to adopt the dance moves, the viral video also captured Lizzo’s attention. Notably, it landed Gomez an opportunity to perform alongside Lizzo on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Now, the “About Damn Time” dance is making moves of its own elsewhere, specifically in one of the world’s most popular online games. Fortnite just introduced a new emote inspired by a hit Lizzo song Epic Games has unleashed another emote in Fortnite, one that borrows moves from TikTok star Jaedan Gomez. The emote in question is known as Pump Me Up and features a snippet of the aforementioned Lizzo track. Upon Pump Me Up’s release, Epic rolled out a trailer showcasing the emote in action – as seen in the Twitter post below. Players can find the new dance in Fortnite’s Item Shop, where it bears a price tag of 300 V-Bucks. In addition to the Lizzo emote, Fortnite players will want to be on the lookout for this year’s Fortnitemares. However, designs from the Concept Royale contest winners, Dreowings and Kitsunekitsu, are confirmed to appear during Fortnitemares as in-game skins. Of course, more information concerning the forthcoming festivities should become available as the release of Fortnite’s spooky event draws near.

The Mythic weapons come in four different styles, mimicking some of the franchise’s most popular characters: Green: Luke’s Lightsaber – Red: Kylo Ren’s Lightsaber – Blue: Rey’s Lightsaber – Purple: Mace Windu’s Lightsaber – On top of that, certain limited-time cosmetics have returned to the shop. The Dark Side Emote, the Starfighters, Order & Peace bundles, and more have been added for players to pick up. If you missed them the first time, now’s your chance. However, they were quickly shunned by the community for being insanely overpowered. While they brought a bunch of nostalgia value, their ability to deflect fire and their high damage output made them hugely broken in-game. Their inclusion for a short amount of time shouldn’t do much harm though. Read more: New Yellow Jacket starter pack leaked – There’s no better way to re-introduce them back in than on May 4. “May the fourth be with you,” or Star Wars Day, is pinned on the calendar to celebrate the 43 year old franchise. Nine films and a handful of spinoffs later, the space-opera story lives on the hearts of millions. Related: Top five Fortnite in-game events However, if you want to get your hands on the fabled Lightsabers, you’ll have to be quick. The Mythic weapons will only be available in Fortnite until May 6. This gives players just a little over 48 hours to play around with them, so you shouldn’t have to worry about game balance for too long.

Fortnite Lever Action Shotgun: Where to get it, stats, rarities – Dexerto
Fortnite Lever Action Shotgun: Where to get it, stats, rarities Epic GamesFortnite has introduced a brand new weapon called the Lever Action Shotgun with its v15.20 update, but are its stats any good? The latest update for Epic Games’ popular battle royale has introduced a trickle of new content to refresh the game, including a new crashed Predator ship in Stealthy Stronghold and an Exotic weapon called the Hop Rock Dualies. While those additions will no doubt get plenty of attention, the game has also introduced a new regular weapon called the Lever Action Shotgun. As the name suggests, it’s a short-range companion to the currently-available Lever Action Rifle. Here’s everything we know about the weapon so far, including damage, reload time, and how to find one. What is the Lever Action Shotgun? The official description for the Lever Action Shotgun from Epic Games is as follows: “Pump-Action. Deals high damage at a moderate fire rate. Short range and limited magazine size.” It seems as though the weapon is meant to act as a replacement for the fan-favorite Pump Shotgun, which was vaulted at the start of Season 5. Many players were frustrated at that decision, so hopefully, this will keep them happy. Fun fact: The Lever Action Shotgun reloads with a pretty nice swivel animation. This is purely a visual detail, of course, but it’s a nice feature that definitely adds to the weapon’s cool factor. How to get the Lever Action Shotgun in Fortnite Fortunately, the Lever Action Shotgun is relatively easy to find. Unlike the Exotic weapons that require you to purchase them from specific NPCs on the map, this new shotgun will appear almost everywhere you go. The Lever Action Shotgun can be found lying around as floor loot or by searching in chests and supply drops. It’s available in common, uncommon, rare, epic, and legendary variations. Is the Fortnite Lever Action Shotgun any good? The common version of the Lever Action Shotgun deals 10.4 damage per pellet and has a reload time of 6.6 seconds. The legendary version deals 12.1 damage per pellet and has a reload time of 5.7 seconds. All variations of the weapon have a magazine size of 6 and use Shells as ammo. Lever Action Shotgun + Stats pic.twitter.com/QY2mobPuZQ — iFireMonkey (@iFireMonkey) January 13, 2021 It’s worth pointing out that each shot has multiple pellets in it, so the actual amount of damage it deals is far higher than the numbers above. We’ll definitely be adding this weapon to our loadout. At the end of the day, whether a weapon is any good often comes down to personal preference. That said, we can see a lot of fans of the Tactical Shotgun and Pump Shotgun making the jump to the Lever Action Shotgun in future games. Fortnite lightsabers are so broken players want them removed – Dexerto
Fortnite lightsabers are so broken players want them removed Epic GamesEpic Games have added many weapons to Fortnite that could be described as overpowered, or in need of a nerf, but players are now calling for Star Wars lightsabers to be completely removed. The battle royale game has been the host of several interesting crossovers since it was first released in September 2017, including Marvel’s Avengers, Batman, and many more – adding a number of themed weapons to the game in the process. One of the biggest introductions to the game since the beginning of Chapter 2, however, has been lightsabers and the popular weapons from LucasFilm’s world-renowned franchise have certainly shaken up the free-to-play title. As seen in a video from Reddit user TowelieCR, posted to the Fortnite subreddit, players using the sabers can often teleport to different positions mid-fight. The Redditor isn’t the only one that’s “losing patience” with the issues, either, as a number of other players called for their removal. For example, one wrote: “This crap is totally game-breaking, and it happens to me just about every single time I even see someone with a lightsaber. Why are they still even in the game at all, much less with these problems attached?” Clearly, this isn’t an ideal situation for anybody using one – first and foremost – and maybe even worse for opponents approaching those using the weapons. Just like it did in this short clip, the glitch can cost people matches. They were first made available at the end of the Star Wars event at Risky Reels, and now some members of the community are now calling for them to head to the vault after a glitch has completely ruined them. If you take a look inside the vault already, you will find the likes of the Infinity Blade, Grappler, and many more weapons that were eventually deemed unfit for purpose in Fortnite. Whether or not lightsabers will suffer a similar fate and be locked away ahead of schedule remains to be seen, although there’s certainly a demand for that course of action. The Star Wars crossover is set to end, regardless, on January 7.

Fortnite Lever Action Rifle: Where and how to complete 100 damage challenge – Dexerto
Fortnite Lever Action Rifle: Where and how to complete 100 damage challenge Epic GamesTo complete the Lever Action Rifle challenge in Fortnite’s Operation Snowdown, you’ll need to find the weapon and deal 100 damage. Here’s everything you need to know. Epic Games introduced a number of new features to its popular battle royale with the game’s winter update (v15.10), including snow-covered map areas, a new NPC, and a host of challenges called Operation Snowdown to complete. It also brought a new weapon called the Lever Action Rifle into play. First teased as the ‘Cowboy repeater rifle’ by Epic, the weapon has already proven to be popular with players. What is Fortnite’s Lever Action Rifle? The new Lever Action Rifle weapon is a semi-automatic scopeless Sniper Rifle that uses Heavy Bullets. It appears to be a crossover between the vaulted Infantry Rifle and Hunting Rifle, and behaves similarly to a Shotgun. It comes in three variants: Uncommon (52 damage), Rare (55 damage), and Epic (58 damage). There is supposedly a Legendary variant, but it’s currently not available in the game. Where to find Lever Action Rifle in Fortnite Unlike the exotic weapons that have been introduced throughout Season 5, which need to be acquired from an NPC, the Lever Action Rifle is a normal weapon that can be found like most others in the game. The Uncommon variant can be found as floor loot or in chests; the Rare variant can be found as floor loot or in chests; and the Rare variant can be found in chests, rare chests, or in supply drops. You can also upgrade the Lever Action Rifle’s rarity by visiting an NPC capable of doing so. Deal damage with the Lever Action Rifle to unlock the Fish Fest Emoji! Report to Snowmando to get the quest now. pic.twitter.com/J5JDOWD7cP — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) December 29, 2020 How to complete 100 damage Snowdown challenge The Operation Snowdown Challenge that involves the Lever Action Rifle requires the player to deal 100 damage with the weapon, which amounts to two solid body shots or one single headshot. It’s a simple challenge, but there are ways to make it even easier. If you play in a different mode such as Team Rumble or the limited time mode Rally Royale, you’ll respawn when you die, meaning you’ll have more chance to find a Lever Action Rifle and deal damage. Once you complete the challenge, you’ll unlock the Fish Fest Emoji, which can be equipped and used in the game whenever you like. You’ll have until January 5, 2021, to complete the challenge. Remember, if you manage to complete nine Operation Snowdown quests, you’ll get the Snowmando skin, and if you complete 12 of them, you’ll get the Frost Squad skin.

Fortnite leaker claims LEGO mode is in the works with “unique enemies” – Dexerto
Fortnite leaker claims LEGO mode is in the works with “unique enemies” Epic Games, WBA Fortnite leaker claims Epic Games is producing a LEGO mode, possibly for UEFN, that will feature “unique enemies.” LEGO and Fortnite collaborations have already happened on more than one occasion, thanks to LEGO sets modeled after the Battle Bus, purple llama, and so on. But while Fortnite has entered the world of LEGO several times over, the reverse has yet to occur. As of yet, there is no official way to stack colorful bricks on Fortnite Island. That much could change in the near future, though, should recently leaked details prove accurate. Leak suggests a LEGO mode may be in the works for Fortnite Reliable Fortnite leaker GMatrixGames recently shared details suggesting LEGO content will arrive in-game at some point. Whatever the new collaboration entails will allegedly involve “unique” enemy NPCs, “custom UI elements,” and content simply referred to as “Adventures.” Another leaker, HYPEX, posits the LEGO-branded mode will be created in the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN). Neither Epic Games nor LEGO has addressed any of the above claims. As always, then, Fortnite fans should take the information with a grain of salt. Either way, some fans have cast doubt on the theory that Fortnite’s LEGO “mode” will exist in UEFN. Wrote one user beneath the HYPEX post, “Doubt they’re using uefn, most likely it’s just an actual thing made in unreal with custom tools and shi**, from everything we’ve seen.” Whatever this supposed collab turns into, it’s clear Epic and LEGO have already captured the imaginations of players. For now, though, Fortnite faithful patiently await the release of Chapter 4 Season 3, which is rumored to feature an overgrown biome and desert theme.

With a new crafting station, players need to collect resources, and Amber in Rough and Cut forms is a crucial and highly sought-after material. Fortnite’s collaboration with Lego is constantly growing in hype with countless players queueing in at every moment to play the exclusive new game mode. The new Fortnite Lego game mode not only features the entire universe in Lego blocks for characters but also has a lot of interesting additions such as the crafting station. Ranging from Axes and other weapons to gliders and various other forms of transport, there are plenty of items that you can craft to make your life easier in the vast open world of Fortnite Lego. One of the most important resources that you need to craft and upgrade several such items is Rough and Cut Amber. Having said that, let’s dive in and check out where you can find these forms of Amber in the new game mode. How to find Rough Amber in Fortnite Lego? Fortnite Lego features a vast open-world map with several biomes for you to explore. Every biome has its own specific features and characteristics, including biome-exclusive resources. Similarly, Rough Ambers are found in the desert biome of your world and one of the biggest challenges you will face early on is to figure out where the desert biome is located in your world. The best way to search for the desert biome is by interacting with the villagers visiting your town. Once you figure out which direction the desert biome is, you need to head over to it and scavenge for Rough Ambers throughout the entire region. You should also note that Rough Ambers are rare, and gathering a substantial amount can take a while. How to find Cut Amber in Fortnite Lego? While Rough Amber is a very valuable resource by itself, there are a few items that need Cut Amber specifically to craft. Although it can be fairly difficult to obtain this resource, our step-by-step guide will make the entire process a lot easier for you to complete. In order to get Cut Amber, you will need two primary resources – Rough Amber, and a Gem Cutter. While Rough Amber can be obtained from the desert biome, you will have to craft the Gem Cutter with various resources, including Rough Amber. Here’s a list of all the resources you will need to craft the Gem Cutter at the Crafting Station: x20 Marble Slab – x5 Rough Amber – x5 Sand Claw – x3 Sand Shell – Once you have all of these resources in your inventory, you will be able to craft the Gem Cutter in Fortnite Lego. After the Gem Cutter is ready, all you need to do is interact with the Gem Cutter and choose the recipe for Cut Amber. Following this, you will have to deposit the Rough Amber into the machine and wait for the process to complete. You will be able to collect the Cut Amber from the Gem Cutter as soon as the entire procedure is complete. So, there you have it. That’s all there is to know about collecting Rough and Cut Ambers in the Fortnite Lego game mode. Fortnite leaks suggest Item Shop could get voting system soon – Dexerto
Fortnite leaks suggest Item Shop could get voting system soon Epic Games / Youtube: ShufflegamerDataminers have uncovered new leaks that point to a possible voting system coming soon to the Fortnite Battle Royale Item Shop. Fortnite’s Item Shop could be getting an update soon to introduce a fan voting system to bring back one item from the vault. The update will be tied into a special event, although it’s unclear what event it could be tied to. Fortnite’s store model has thrived on the limited release nature of skins, where the shop could change at any time and a skin someone had their eye on would suddenly no longer be available for purchase. The latest tweets by dataminer ‘s1l0x’ hinted towards the addition of the Item Shop change during an upcoming special event. Read more: Fortnite x Mayhem announced – “During this special event, you’ll get one vote every day,” the leak said. “Use it to vote for the item you want to return to the store.” “When the special event ends, the Community Choice Winner will return to the item shop.” Not sure if these have been posted yet, but the community vote is a “”Special Event”” that will run for an unknown period of time that you will get one vote to pick from an array of different cosmetics that the community will choose to bring into the item shop. (1) pic.twitter.com/Jk81GDOg9J — s1l0x (@s1l0x) August 28, 2019 On August 7, dataminer ‘Lucas7yoshi’ uncovered assets that pointed towards the introduction of the new feature. Labelled the “comeback event” in the early stages, the leaks pointed towards “At the end of the event, the most voted item will return to the store,” said one of the text snippets found. It also revealed that the items coming back will have a limited quantity, meaning players will need to snap up these deals quickly after they are announced if they want to bolster their collection with past items. In May, the community chose to bring back the controversial Drum Gun in the unvaulting event. Epic also chose to restore jetpacks in July, but not into the competitive game modes. Read more: Epic respond to turbo building backlash – While the unvaulting event got players to dive into the game and swing their pickaxe for one of six items they wanted to bring back, all the comeback event needs is a click for your favorite item in the store. There hasn’t been any official confirmation on when the comeback event will be hitting the live Fortnite servers, but players should be getting themselves ready to swoop up any deals that might come from it.

Fortnite leaks suggest Midas may make Halloween return in undead form – Dexerto
Fortnite leaks suggest Midas may make Halloween return in undead form Epic Games[jwplayer 91I9RIGm] One of Fortnite’s most impactful characters, Midas, may soon be making his return to Epic Games’ battle royale as a zombie, ghost, or other undead creature for the 2020 Fortnitemares event. Midas hasn’t been around recently, following his apparent death to a shark in June 2020. While he has remained entrenched in the Fortnite community’s collective consciousness thanks to the Midas Flopper, which converts your entire inventory into gold when caught, the debonair Spy Boss seems nonexistent. But that could change sooner than anticipated. With the “Last Laugh” bundle, Epic Games confirmed a new Iron Man-esque Midas outfit would be available later in the year, and now Fortnite leakers have discovered clues that he and his henchmen could be climbing up from the dead and making a spooky October appearance. Unfinished NPCs most likely for Fortnitemares, thanks to @intercelluar for bringing this to my attention! Midas (Maybe another version of him): – Has a Gold Scar, probably a placeholder – Has 100 HP & 350 ShieldsGhostly Ghost Henchman – Has an AR, Pump, SMG or Pumpkin Launcher— HYPEX (@HYPEX) October 2, 2020 As noted by known leakers, HYPEX and intercelluar, an unfinished Midas NPC is accompanied by “Ghost Ghost Henchman” files in the game. Given the henchman’s ghost moniker and possible “Pumpkin Launcher” weapon, it feels very likely that Midas and Co. are returning specifically for Halloween content and, as such, may exist in some undead form. At present, everything remains uncertain. Midas could have eluded the shark’s teeth, pulled a James Bartley and survived within its stomach in some unlikely fashion, or simply been killed, but found some way to return to the Fortnite world in an undead form, like a zombie or a ghost. Maybe he’ll return to haunt the Agency or to troll the water, no one can be sure. Just as an outfit, we do know the pale, scarred character is returning with some serious Iron Man energy later in the year with the aforementioned “Last Laugh” bundle, but this new leak has intriguing implications for the game’s spooky October plans. The 2020 Fortnitemares event will be the third annual iteration and many are hoping that this year’s version will tie more deeply into the game’s running story elements than in years past, when PvE monsters were simply added to the fold. While Midas and his henchmen could be considered yet another obstacle joining the fray, there are numerous ways in which their return from the grave would factor more interestingly into the event than other possibilities. Chapter 2’s most prominent character could soon be central to the story once again, this time with a few more scars.

Fortnite: Leaks suggest a Special New Year’s event is coming soon A special New Year’s Eve event could be coming to Fortnite to end an incredible 2018 for one of the most popular Battle Royale games around. Fortnite had a huge 2018, from winning the Golden Joystick’s Game of the Year Award, to hosting more paid tournaments than ever before. After such an unprecedented successful year for Fortnite, Epic Games appears to have plans to cap of the year with a special New Year’s Eve event. A potential ‘New Year’ event has been found in the V7.10 update game files by data miner ‘FortTory‘ and it even includes what appears to the be infamous ‘Times Square Ball’ that drops every year in New York. At the time of writing nothing has been confirmed by Epic Games, but Dexerto will continue to provide updates as more information is revealed.

Fortnite leaks reveal upcoming open-world mode details – Dexerto
Fortnite leaks reveal upcoming open-world mode details Epic GamesFortnite seemingly isn’t done adding new modes, with a leaker sharing info on an open-world game mode in the works. Originally starting as “Save the World,” a co-op horde mode, before converting into a full-time battle royale, Fortnite‘s evolution has been quite the spectacle to experience. The latest season, Chapter 5, Season 1, furthers the game’s continuous transformation with three new modes in the form of LEGO Fortnite, Festival, and Rocket Racing. Each of the prior modes draws from some of gaming’s greatest hits and adds a new wrinkle to the Fortnite formula. It seems like the journey doesn’t end there, with reports pointing towards Fortnite going open world. Fortnite open-world mode in the works codenamed “Arnold” As reported by Twitter/X user Egyptian_Leaker, Fortnite is rumored to be receiving an open-world game mode. Codenamed “Arnold,” it’ll see players navigating through various biomes, interacting with NPCs, and exploring dynamic POIs. If true, much of what’s been in previous seasons would be present in this mode. The biomes would be standard areas like grasslands and deserts, the POIs would change over time, and friendly NPCs would sell items or offer help. There would be three Acts to go through, each Act offering new activities and experiences, possibly indicating a narrative in this mode. Initial reactions to this information were mixed, if not confused, with many questioning why Epic would field LEGO Fortnite and another open-world game mode at the same time. “Kinda dumb to have this and Lego Fortnite when they sound both the same,” one reply stated. However, others countered this could be Epic’s attempt at a campaign mode. LEGO Fortnite covers the Minecraft itch, while this rumored mode could be a Fortnite story full of lore. Egyptian_Leaker wrapped up the leaks by saying the game files point towards a release during this season, although it seems highly unlikely to happen. Stay tuned as more information comes to light on Project “Arnold.”

Fortnite leaks shoot down DC crossover rumors for Season 6 battle pass – Dexerto
Fortnite leaks shoot down DC crossover rumors for Season 6 battle pass Epic GamesHype has been surrounding Fortnite Season 6 and the potential DC Comics crossover. While the stars have been aligning, recent leaks have seemingly shot down the rumors just days before the launch. DC Comics fans were hoping for a content extravaganza like those Marvel fans received in Fortnite Season 4.
