Fortnite leak reveals grim fate for Bushranger skin Epic GamesA new Fortnite leak has revealed that everyone’s favorite leafy Islander, Bushranger, could be in for a rather grim fate. Popular characters disappear from the Island all the time in Fortnite, and it’s rarely explained what happened to them – which is unusual, considering everyone’s supposed to be stuck inside the loop. Still, most players don’t really pay too much attention to this phenomenon, as a regular rotation of NPCs dotted around the map helps keep gameplay fresh. But it looks like one fan-favorite character, Bushranger, could be about to go missing with a very sinister explanation behind it. Is Bushranger going to die in Fortnite? Prominent leaker HYPEX recently shared an unreleased asset from the game. It’s a grave, accompanied by some atmospheric music, that’s scheduled to appear at the same place Bushranger currently spawns. As if that wasn’t ominous enough, the grave is located in the unreleased Fortnite files under a folder called “Quests/Bushranger/GraveSite”. HYPEX also pointed out that all of this is tied into a currently unreleased quest, meaning there will likely be challenges in the coming weeks surrounding this mysterious grave. This Grave & Sound is supposed to appear at some point where bushranger spawns now, the Grave is under a folder called “”Quests/Bushranger/GraveSite”” and it’s also tied to an unreleased quest.. Bushranger Dies? 😳 pic.twitter.com/rnsiYk7ddi — HYPEX (@HYPEX) July 28, 2021 There is another potential explanation for this grave appearing in Fortnite, though. Several weekly challenges throughout this season have tasked players with finding supplies for Bushranger’s newly-adopted alien egg, such as collecting parenting books and building an egg hatchery. Read More: Top 10 rarest skins in Fortnite – Could it be that the loveable character’s new alien baby is about to die? That does seem more likely, as killing off a popular NPC seems a little out of character for Fortnite. Although on second thought, this explanation somehow sounds even darker than Bushranger himself being bumped off. Regardless of what happens, the future’s not looking bright for Bushranger. It’s unknown when this grave will appear, but it could have something to do with the live event that’s currently being teased with a mysterious countdown timer in the Fortnite lobby.

Fortnite leak reveals future plans for car hijacking mechanic – Dexerto
Fortnite leak reveals future plans for car hijacking mechanic Epic GamesFortnite data miners have revealed that the developers are working on a mechanic to let users hijack other vehicles. Epic Games has brought new vehicles to Fortnite with the release of Chapter 5, including partnerships with Lamborgini and Mercedes Benz. Both have brought new forms of transportation to the game from the previous season, which relied on shopping and golf carts. Additionally, Fortnite added a new game mode called Rocket Racing, which the creators of Rocket League developed. This includes new in-game cosmetics, such as different cars for users to purchase and drive around. To keep on theme with updates to cars within Fortnite, it seems like the developers have played around with allowing players to hijack other vehicles for their own benefit in the battle royale. Fortnite goes Grand Theft Auto with potential update According to leak reports from Loolo_WRLD and BeastFNCreative on Twitter/X, Fortnite is working on a system allowing players to take over other cars in Chapter 5. “The player has to connect to a car and can click an input to start hijacking,” said Loolo. “The player can also cancel it, and it’ll have a cooldown. Hijacking can fail if the car is going too fast, makes a sharp turn, or crashes.” The player could be ejected in the event of a failed hijacking, giving the mechanic some counterplay from the driver. There is a minimum speed threshold for the attempt to be unsuccessful according to these leaks. These leaks could be drastically changed if/when the feature is added to the game. Epic Games has not announced any plans for an update to Fortnite in the near future. If the feature is added, we will keep you updated.

Fortnite leak reveals free 2020 birthday cosmetics – Dexerto
Fortnite leak reveals free 2020 birthday cosmetics Epic GamesTwo new weapon skins have been revealed by leakers ahead of Fortnite’s third birthday celebration, and more could still be on the way. Since 2017, Fortnite has pretty much dominated the gaming world with its unique and colorful take on battle royales. Players have flocked to Epic Games’ mega-popular title because of the constant updates, entertaining gameplay, and creative cosmetics. For the past two years, the developers have celebrated the battle royale’s birthday by rewarding players with new content – typically in the form of free cosmetics and in-game surprises. While many assumed that this year’s celebrations were going to be ignored, given that Epic has remained silent on any potential birthday party – secretly dropping a skin for Save the World players back in July – leakers have managed to get an early look at what is coming soon. Fortnite 3rd birthday free cosmetics Dataminer Fevers revealed that there are at least two free cosmetics on the way in the form of weapon wraps. The first of these was revealed to be a pink and green colored wrap that almost looks like a slice of birthday cake being cut into before it is shared around at a party. Additionally, the second skin uses the same green color as the first skin for its main color, but it has a unique look because of the different colored confetti that appears to be raining down over it from front to back. You can see images of both skins below. Previous Fortnite birthday celebrations have given players, perhaps, better cosmetics like pickaxes shaped like a birthday cake, but you can never really go wrong with getting a free reward. Read More: Can you open Fortnite’s Helicarrier vault? – It remains to be seen if Epic has something else up their sleeve for the birthday celebrations, but we don’t have long to wait given that the Battle Royale mode turns three years old on September 26.

Fortnite leak reveals future of OG map and it’s heartbreaking news – Dexerto
Fortnite leak reveals future of OG map and it’s heartbreaking news Epic GamesA certain Fortnite leak has revealed the unfortunate future of the OG map and it’s heartbreaking news for many. Here’s what it means and how the player base reacted to it. Fortnite Season OG is coming to a close, as players eagerly await the Big Bang live event and Chapter 5’s launch. Players embarked on a nostalgic journey by recalling their earliest Fortnite memories during the current season, which featured the return of the renowned Chapter 1 island, weapons, and items. In addition, the season saw the highest number of players for the game since the stats became public. Furthermore, renowned streamers who previously departed from the game returned to participate, which contributed significantly to Season OG’s immense popularity. Despite the fact that numerous leaks for the forthcoming Chapter 5 have already surfaced, one of these leaks has now unveiled the fate of the OG map, which is devastating news for players who have enjoyed the current season. Fortnite fans devastated to hear about OG map’s fate in Chapter 5 Renowned Fortnite data miner HYPEX has now claimed that Epic Games has no plans of keeping the OG island as a separate game mode after Chapter 5 drops on December 3, 2023. The info comes in from another leaker, NotPaloLeaks, who has revealed several details in the past that have proven true. Upon hearing the heartbreaking news, players expressed their thoughts with one such user saying, “Bravest decision of the century.” Another chimed in, “Hard pill to swallow. Just want them to replicate what made Fortnite OG succeed with Chapter 5. Keep the loot pool simple, and try to have more memorable locations and experiences.” A third user replied, “Players are gonna drop as fast as they went up. I don’t understand why they did this.” A fourth one defended Epic by commenting, “They want to push forward their vision of the game. Honestly respect them for it.”

Fortnite leak reveals first look at unreleased Mandalorian cosmetic – Dexerto
Fortnite leak reveals first look at unreleased Mandalorian cosmetic Epic GamesA Fortnite leaker has shared some first-look footage of a new Mandalorian pickaxe in the game, suggesting there’s more to come from the Star Wars crossover. In Season 5 of Epic Games’ popular battle royale Fortnite, Agent Jonesy brought together some of the world’s greatest bounty hunters, including a high-profile crossover with hit Disney+ series The Mandalorian. Players who purchased the season’s Battle Pass were given access to a skin based on the show’s protagonist Mando, and as they progressed they unlocked a series of cosmetics including a Razor Crest glider, new pieces of Beskar armor, and even a Baby Yoda back bling. But now it seems that’s not all fans can expect from the Star Wars crossover in Season 5, as a new gameplay video shows off a player using a pickaxe that appears to be part of the Mandalorian cosmetics set. Is The Mandalorian getting a pickaxe in Fortnite? It was recently teased that a pickaxe based on The Mandalorian’s Amban Sniper Rifle could be coming to the game, as well as potential changes for the Razor Crest crash site POI that appears on the map. Read More: When does Fortnite Season 6 start? – Now, a new video from leaker @TwitchTilted shows the Amban pickaxe in action during a match. Of course, it works just like any other pickaxe in the game: Destroying structures and farming materials. The big appeal is that it would mean The Mandalorian cosmetics set would finally be complete, as the Star Wars character currently doesn’t have a themed pickaxe in the game. It’s currently unknown when – or if – this pickaxe will actually appear in Fortnite. Some rumors have suggested that a new pickaxe is being worked on instead, which could be based on the Beskar Spear or even the Darksaber. Those would certainly be more interesting for Fortnite players, as the current pickaxe model shown above looks identical to the Amban Sniper Rifle, which is already available to find as a Mythic weapon in the game. “This would have been a good secondary back bling for the Mandalorian, they should’ve made the Beskar Spear his pickaxe, missed opportunity,” wrote one fan on Reddit. Another agreed, adding: “I like it but the Beskar Spear would have been way cooler.” We’ll have to wait and see if the Amban Sniper Rifle pickaxe eventually gets added to the game, or if it will be something different entirely. It would be a shame for The Mandalorian to never get his own pickaxe.

Fortnite leak reveals first Season 5 skin & PS5 cosmetics – Dexerto
Fortnite leak reveals first Season 5 skin & PS5 cosmetics Epic GamesA fresh Fortnite leak has confirmed one of the skins coming in Season 5 around the holiday period, as well as some potential exclusives for the next-gen consoles. Even though Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4 is in full swing, there are plenty of players who are looking ahead and speculating as to what might come when Epic Games launches Season 5. As of writing, there haven’t been any leaks about the theme for the new season, and the game is still going full steam ahead of their current Marvel crossover. However, some leakers have been able to confirm some details surrounding the new season – including some of the cosmetics that players will be able to purchase from the Item Shop in the future. Gingerbread Renegade Raider Fortnite skin The details come from reliable leaker HYPEX who revealed that they’d got some information from an anonymous source this time around rather than digging into the game’s files. HYPEX tweeted, on October 1, that their source had confirmed that a year-old concept for the Renegade Raider from Fercho_uWu which would give the character a Christmasy feel. As you might expect, this skin shouldn’t be available in Season 5 from the start – say through the battle pass. Instead, you’ll have to wait until the calendar turns to the holiday period and then it should be available in the item shop. https://twitter.com/Fercho_UwU/status/1202353219063754752 On top of that claim, the leaker also confirmed that there will be an exclusive skin for PS5 owners. That’s to be expected, given the exclusive cosmetic packs currently on PS4, but there could be one for Xbox Series X/S owners too. https://twitter.com/HYPEX/status/1311638484558508032 As Epic Games begins to ramp up to Season 5, further leaks should be expected – including some about the new theme, new POIs, and cosmetics. So, we’ll just have to keep an eye on what surfaces from insiders.

Fortnite leak reveals first-look at BTS dance emotes in-game Epic Games / Instagram: BTSBTS will soon be taking over Fortnite with a special in-game performance of their new hit single Dynamite, and an early leak has given fans a look at various dance emotes coming to the battle royale. From Marvel to John Wick and even Travis Scott, Fortnite has collaborated with the biggest brands, properties, and artists out there. That trend isn’t slowing down anytime soon as mega-popular boy band BTS is next in line for a crossover event. Fortnite leak reveals everything that drops from Junk Rift – Dexerto
Fortnite leak reveals everything that drops from Junk Rift Epic GamesFortnite is debuting a new item with content update v10.10 called the Junk Rift which leaks suggest will dump objects out of it and now we have an idea of just what items will come out. A new item called the Junk Rift has arrived in the in-game news screen, which means it won’t be long until it actually comes to the game, and fans are already wondering what it does. According to leaker Lucas7yoshi, the item will drop objects out of it and could potentially be used to damage other players. Fortnite leaker FireMonkey revealed four different items that could fall from the rift, but it’s not clear if that is all that can fall or if there are more. These items include a giant dinosaur, a police car, an anchor, and an outhouse. These items have no relation to each other meaning it seems like it chooses random items. Here are the four items you could get to fall from the sky when throwing a Junk Rift.#Fortnite #FortniteLeaks pic.twitter.com/6sEqZBrZZG — FireMonkey • Fortnite Intel (@iFireMonkey) August 17, 2019 What will be interesting to keep an eye on – if these items do in fact damage others – is what the differences in damage between items will be. Surely a giant dinosaur or cop car will do more damage to another player than an outhouse would. Both would hurt of course but the car and anchor being made of metal could mean something more. When is the Junk Rift coming? The release time for this update is 8am EST (1pm BST, 5am PT, 10pm AET) on August 20 and there is no downtime, meaning you’ll be able to jump right in and use the item when it arrives. That’s not the only thing that will be arriving with this update as we expect a couple of map changes to be in the mix. Whatever questions we have about the Junk Rift will be answered with the new patch.

Fortnite leak reveals fan favourite mode will return for Halloween – Dexerto
Fortnite leak reveals fan favourite mode will return for Halloween Epic GamesFortnite fans are in for a treat, as a new leak claims that an iconic fan-favorite mode will return for a limited time. Making a spooky splash with Fortnite players back in June 2019, Horde Rush upgraded familiar concepts with an Epic Games spin. Taking the tried and tested formula of undead survival, Fortnite retrofitted this concept to take advantage of its fast-paced gameplay. Not only did this mode throw up some thrilling combat encounters, but added a welcome layer of competition as fellow teammates would be keen to achieve the highest score. Two years after the mode debuted, it might just be time to shake off the cobwebs. Fan-favorite mode will return soon The latest Season of Fortnite has been nothing short of energetic, that’s for sure, and that energy isn’t about to fizzle out either. According to reliable Fortnite leaker HYPEX, this Halloween, fans can expect Horde Rush to make a welcome return to the game. Read More: Dua Lipa and Halsey to make Fortnite debut? – Specifics on rewards are currently unknown, but we can assume that this returning event will start to appear at some point in the next season. Fortnite will receive a new Season this September, after finally bringing DC legends such as Superman and members of The Suicide Squad into battle. Fortnite players will be pleased to know that Horde Rush will be bringing along some variety to keep things fresh. Not only will score multipliers keep the competitive juices flowing, but zombies will be able to produce harmful attacks. Red zombies will explode within proximity of the player, while Green zombies will exude a dangerous poison. The Gold variants have increased strength and, finally, White zombies can chill the player’s feet, making any escape difficult. The Horde Rush LTM will return for Halloween with these: – Spawn Obelisks Chests (has powerful weapons) – Score Multipliers (eliminates nearby zombies) – Some items can make you invisible to the zombies – Zombies Abilities: Freeze, Explode, Poison & Strong (Gold) – Final Boss— HYPEX (@HYPEX) August 8, 2021 To counter the increased difficulty, players will auto-heal and be revived between each wave of the grueling undead. Obelisks Chests also offer the player a chance to acquire kitted out weapons in their quest to survive. This will be especially useful when facing off against the final boss, whatever that may be. With some already colorful characters on the roster, we’ll be looking forward to teaming up with the likes of Superman, John Wick, Harry Kane, and Black Widow in Horde Rush this Halloween.

Fortnite leak reveals crazy Grenade Launcher & Mini-Gun hybrid weapon – Dexerto
Fortnite leak reveals crazy Grenade Launcher & Mini-Gun hybrid weapon Epic GamesA fresh Fortnite leak has revealed that an insane Grenade Launcher and Mini-Gun hybrid weapon is in the works, and could be landing in the battle royale. Fortnite is no stranger to having wacky or overpowered weapons in the loot pool. Players are still trying to forget about the Infinity Blade, while also hoping that something like the Zapatron makes a return with a nerf. Those sort of wacky inventions have gone away in recent seasons, being replaced by standard-looking but overpowered shotguns, assault rifles, and even pistols. However, when it comes to taking things back to the outlandish levels of design and power, Epic Games might just have something up their sleeve that could leave battle royale players calling for the vault. On September 28, Fortnite leaker @Mang0e_ revealed that a new Heavy Weapon type is in the works – with it seemingly looking like a crossover between a Grenade Launcher and Mini-Gun. That’s right, a crossover between the Grenade Launcher and Mini-Gun. How, you might ask? Well, in the photos posted by the leaker, the prototype mesh shows the Mini-Gun without a barrel and stats showing that it would do a huge amount of environmental damage. According to the current stats of the prototype, it does 137 environmental damage and 67 normal damage, so it’s powerful either way. A new Heavy Weapon is in the works. It may be a cross between a Grenade Launcher and a Minigun. A prototype mesh is included, which appears to be a minigun without its barrel. Really interesting weapon in the works, stay tuned. Gun stats + Mesh in pics below. pic.twitter.com/600kpmfUIh — Mang0e (@Mang0e_) September 28, 2020 Of course, given that it’s just a prototype mesh, it could very well be Epic just running some tests without any plans to actually release the weapon later down the line. As we’ve seen plenty of times before, content – be it weapons, skins, new locations, or something else – is regularly uncovered by dataminers but never sees the light of day inside the battle royale. So, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens with this one in the future.

Fortnite leak reveals another Star Wars collab coming in Chapter 5 Season 2 – Dexerto
Fortnite leak reveals another Star Wars collab coming in Chapter 5 Season 2 Twitter: HYPEX / Disney / Epic GamesA Fortnite leak revealed another Star Wars collab coming in Chapter 5 Season 2, this time introducing one fan-favorite character’s iconic weapon. Fortnite is no stranger to collaborations, having partnered up with major brands like Dragon Ball, Family Guy, and God of War. Epic Games usually has some exciting things prepared for each new Season, and with Chapter 5 Season 2 now arrived, players are keen to know the collabs they can expect. According to a leak spreading online, players can expect some more Star Wars items in the game. This isn’t the first time Epic Games has brought Star Wars stuff to the game, as in Chapter 3 Season 3 they had Darth Vader in the game temporarily, and they also recently signed a deal with Disney to make a Fortnite entertainment universe. Here’s what the latest leak reveals for Chapter 5 Season 2 collab. Fortnite x Star Wars Wookie Bowcaster Weapon The reliable X/Twitter leak HYPEX account posted a picture of Chewbacca wielding the Wookie Bowcaster with the caption: “UPCOMING FORTNITE x STAR WARS: Wookie Bowcaster Weapon,” they said. Some players were super excited about the leak, and couldn’t wait to try out the weapon. “Gonna be interesting,” said one fan. “Can’t wait!” agreed another. There has been a Wookie skin already introduced to Fortnite in the form of Krrsantan, but Chewie has yet to be added himself, so players are hoping they will also be able to get their hand on a Chewbacca outfit very soon. However, others are more excited about Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 being focused on the ancient Gods like Hades and Poseidon (even if some don’t like the Water God’s skin being a Rippley reskin).

Fortnite leak reveals another Jujutsu Kaisen collab coming in Chapter 5 Season 2 – Dexerto
Fortnite leak reveals another Jujutsu Kaisen collab coming in Chapter 5 Season 2 Epic GamesThe latest Fortnite leak hints at a second wave of Jujutsu Kaisen anime coming to Chapter 5 Season 2. Here’s all you need to know about it. Anime collaborations in Fortnite have proved extremely popular with both genre fans and Battle Royale players. These crossovers have resulted in a slew of cosmetic items inspired by legendary anime characters, as well as a questline that puts players in their shoes for a more immersive gaming experience. DragonBall Z, Naruto, Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, and My Hero Academia are among the franchises that have released in Fortnite, each with their own quest-related event, Mythic weapons, cosmetic items, and anime characters appearing as NPCs. Among them, Jujutsu Kaisen was one of the most popular, with players having to complete a mini-event pass to obtain cosmetic rewards in Chapter 4. A new Fortnite leak has revealed that another wave of Jujutsu Kaisen collaborations will be released shortly in Fortnite, this time in Chapter 5 Season 2. Here is further information about the leak. Fortnite leak shows new incoming Jujutsu Kaisen collab According to well-known data miner HYPEX, a wave 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen crossover might be dropping in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 as Epic is working on a new JJK Cup for the upcoming season. The leaker also stated that Fortnite usually does this if there’s a new collab or wave of items in the works and is set to release soon. Similarly back in Chapter 4 Season 3 players were able to compete in a Jujutsu Kaisen cup to win free cosmetic rewards ahead of the Item Shop collab release. Upon looking at the trusted leak several fans of the anime turned in their enthusiastic comments. One such fan said, “I’m very curious who they will add, maybe Sukuna and Toji?” Another chimed in, “I want to see Sukuna, Todo, Yuta, Toji, and Geto.” A third user commented, “Lmao. They come out with a wave 2 but can’t even come out with One Piece.” A fourth one wrote, “I hope not! Every time they add an anime collab they add annoying things too that kill you almost instantly.”

Fortnite leak reveals another Apex Legends & Warzone inspired feature coming soon – Dexerto
Fortnite leak reveals another Apex Legends & Warzone inspired feature coming soon Epic Games/RespawnA fresh Fortnite leak has revealed that Epic Games could be adding another Warzone and Apex Legends-like feature soon in the form of a sliding mechanic. For the longest time, fans of Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Warzone have been calling for the different game developers to take inspiration from one another and bring different features to their own games. While the standout battle royales are unique in their own ways, those calls have led to things like respawning mechanics, loot vaults, and vehicles, among others, being adapted for the three games in question. As the different devs continue to innovate and take their own games to the next level, it appears as if Epic Games is set to bring a movement mechanic that both Warzone and Apex utilize. That’s right, as leaker HYPEX pointed out, the Fortnite developers are working on a new movement type – Sliding. Read More: Where to find Fortnite’s Cosmic Chests – “It will increase your FOV by 15 when you’re sliding and it will make your camera shake, with a cooldown of 2 seconds,” HYPEX posted. “I don’t know the release date or if it’s gonna be an item!” While details about the change are thin on the ground, plenty of players have already pointed to how controversial the sliding movement has been in Warzone, while it can be used from time to time in Apex Legends too. Epic are working on Sliding movement. This update they added a new movement type named “”Sliding””. It will increase your FOV by 15 when you’re sliding and it will make your camera shake, with a cooldown of 2 seconds. I don’t know the release date or if it’s gonna be be an item! — HYPEX (@HYPEX) September 16, 2021 However, with a supposed cooldown in place for Fortnite, that could prevent some of the drawbacks. You wouldn’t be able to snake around like CoD players, getting an advantage on others in gunfights. Alternatively, if it’s an item, it could just be gimmicky like the ice blocks from previous Fortnite seasons which provided a movement boost but weren’t completely game-breaking. It remains to be seen which route Epic chooses to go with things, but it’ll be interesting nonetheless.

Fortnite leak reveals another delay to Season 2 start date – Dexerto
Fortnite leak reveals another delay to Season 2 start date Epic GamesEpic Games could be on the brink of announcing yet another extension to Fortnite Chapter 2’s current season after a leaker claimed the Season 2 star date has been put back even further. Fans of the popular battle royale game have had to wait longer than any other time in its short history for the beginning of a new season and it appears that developers are asking for even more patience before launching their next major update. Fortnite Chapter 2 started back in October 2019 and since that time we have seen everything from a Star Wars crossover to the Winterfest event come and go. There has been little sign of any radical changes coming soon – despite demand from the community. It was announced in November that the debut season would be the largest to-date, with Epic confirming that early February was to be the launch window for Season 2. Now, a reputable leaker claims the goalposts have been moved once again. A data miner that often leaks happenings in Fortnite before they’re officially revealed, HYPEX, claims that the original start date for the next season was February 6, but has been pushed back to February 20. The leaker confirmed as much in a tweet on January 23, although the reasons for such a tweak in the content schedule are pretty much unknown at this point. https://twitter.com/HYPEX/status/1220352722081239045 Anybody with their finger on the pulse of the Fortnite Battle Royale online community knows that there’s a growing expectancy for significant changes to be made to the in-game experience, but if this leaked information proves to be accurate, the wait will be even longer than some imagined. Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney and many other high profile streamers have called for things to be shaken up in the game throughout the course of Season 1 – with the former calling for a return of the Infantry Rifle to balance things out for players on PC. Whether or not Fortnite’s second season of Chapter 2 will actually launch on February 20 remains to be seen, but as soon as we get any confirmation from developers, we’ll be the first to let you know.

Among Us devs respond to rumors about Fortnite crossover – Dexerto
Among Us devs respond to rumors about Fortnite crossover Epic Games, InnerslothFortnite and Among Us players were excited to see leaks that a crossover between the two multiplayer games could be in the works, but the devs have now called it simply a “rumor”. Joining Call of Duty in an effort to add some suspicion to proceedings, datamined information from leakers appeared to suggest that Fortnite would soon be getting an Among Us style mode or crossover. Initially released in June 2018, the indie hit from developers InnerSloth experienced an immense boom in popularity in 2020 as streamers from across the globe flocked to it. Some have bailed on the party game, but there are plenty still playing it on a regular basis. Among Us had a crossover with Fall Guys in March 2021, and rumors emerged that a Fortnite collaboration was in the works, too. However, the official Among Us Twitter account has now denied that anything is happening. i dont know who spread this rumor but it isn’t true haha, would be super cool though — Among Us (@AmongUsGame) August 9, 2021 “I don’t know who spread this rumor but it isn’t true haha,” they wrote. “Would be super cool though.” Of course, it could be the case that the devs at Among Us are just trying to keep the crossover a secret, so below you’ll find everything we know about the rumored collaboration, just in case it does actually happen. When is Among Us coming to Fortnite? Reliable Fortnite leaker HYPEX made the discovery of a potential Among Us crossover, after coming across files in-game that strongly suggest the new addition will be coming soon. Read More: How to watch Ariana Grande Rift Tour event – Spotting a file titled “Mole” within the game, implying Epic Games spin on “Imposter”, they also managed to find the following keywords associated with this find: Electrical – Cafeteria – Tasks – Sabotage – Factory – Repair – Lab – Visitor CSI – Weapons Lab – Island Monitoring – Security – The Loop – With all these keywords banded together, it is just too suspicious to dismiss as anything else. However, HYPEX has noted that this new information could pertain to the Imagine Order area under Colossal Coliseum. This connection has only been drawn in part to the fact that “The Loop” and “Visitor CSI” are noted within this area. By including these very familiar elements of Among Us within the same breath, it seems like Epic Games are plotting a grand scheme behind the scenes. UPCOMING Fortnite X Among Us COLLAB! There’s currently a thing in the files called “”Mole”” (Imposter) and it has these keywords related to it: Electrical, Cafeteria, Tasks, Sabotage, Factory, Repair, Lab, Visitor CSI, Weapons Lab, Island Monitoring, Security, The Loop — HYPEX (@HYPEX) August 6, 2021 On the other side of collaborations, Fortnite recently hosted pop sensation Ariana Grande, as part of the Rift Tour. Transforming the game into a pastel color fever dream, Grande impressed famed streamers TimTheTatman and Ninja with her digital presentation. Showcasing five performances for players to witness before their eyes, the Ariana Grande-led event concluded on August 8. After that, who knows what is next.

Fortnite leaker claims highly-requested Inventory feature is in development – Dexerto
Fortnite leaker claims highly-requested Inventory feature is in development Epic GamesA popular fan-requested inventory feature could finally be making its way to Fortnite that would give people a streamlined way of sorting their items. Epic Games have been giving their battle royale players a ton of new content to go through in Season 7 with the new Invasion theme that’s been taking over the island. The new season also gave players more weapons in the Fortnite arsenal in the IO Tech guns, which only expands the BR’s long list of arms. Of course, with more weapons comes the need to sort them in the hectic battle royale. For a long time, Fortnite players have been dreaming of a system that would easily sort your weapons into appropriate spots based on individual preferences, and it appears one may be in the works! Epic is most likely working on a setting to automatically place items types in the slot that you want, for example when you pick up a shotgun it’ll automatically place it in slot #3 or whichever you want. A “”Preferred Slot Item Type”” feature is being worked on since 17.00! — HYPEX (@HYPEX) June 23, 2021 This would allow the game to automatically sort pick-up items in specific slots depending on where you want your AR to be, your shotgun, etc. “Epic is most likely working on a setting to automatically place items types in the slot that you want,” notable leaker HYPEX said. “For example when you pick up a shotgun it’ll automatically place it in slot #3 or whichever you want. A ‘Preferred Slot Item Type’ feature is being worked on since 17.00!” A feature like this in Fortnite has been requested by many, with hopes of officially having it in the game sparked as early as 2019 when a member at Epic simply said the team would investigate the idea. Even before that, players have created mock-ups about how it would look like in the game, but without any news of that front. A feature like this could help one of the most annoying issues in Fortnite that has players individually sorting their gear after looting or scavenging a fallen player’s items. As well, sorting your inventory can be especially tricky when playing on a controller compared to PC, as it takes a significantly longer amount of time to drag and drop items. Epic has yet to confirm any such system so take it with a grain of salt, but Fortnite players have been clamoring for a Preferred Slot Item Type feature for a while.

Fortnite leak reveals all-new car-based LTMs coming in Season 4 – Dexerto
Fortnite leak reveals all-new car-based LTMs coming in Season 4 Epic GamesFortnite Season 4 is right around the corner and a set of new leaks has revealed what fans might be able to expect from unique Limited-Time Modes through its duration. Season 3 of Fortnite is just days away from coming to a close. From new Points of Interest to speedy vehicles and plenty more, the enormous content drop shook up the state of the battle royale in big ways. With the next seasonal update fast approaching, the community has been eager to see what’s in store. August 19 leaks claimed that the upcoming season will be based on a Marvel hero this time around, as opposed to DC’s Aquaman in the current season. Beyond this, not much is known about the update. However, a fresh set of leaks have revealed one key tidbit: what LTMs are on the horizon in Fortnite. You’ll want to get some experience behind the wheel before Season 3 wraps up. Many of the leaked LTMs for Season 4 appear to be vehicle-based. Here’s what you need to know. LTMs that had descriptions added but we haven’t seen in CH2S3 yet: Pavonis [Squads] – Deal More Damage, Take More Damage. – Close- Ranged Weapons Only— iFireMonkey (@iFireMonkey) August 19, 2020 Each and every week Fortnite is updated. Some weeks see new content added while others see map changes introduced. In week eight, an assortment of vehicles were dropped across the map. It appears as though Epic Games had plans for unique LTMs with these vehicles in Season 3. Plans that haven’t quite seen the light of day just yet. There were three unique LTMs added to the game’s files throughout the season. Meaning that three brand-new LTMs could be all set to go once Season 4 arrives. One of them is a standard playlist without a focus on vehicles. ‘Pavonis’ is a squad mode that bumps damage up, lowers your health, and restricts weapons to close-range only. The remaining two are all vehicle-based LTMs. Rally Royale is for teams of all sizes and requires players to “collect Golden Tickets.” These are found scattered throughout Supply Drops on the map. Once enough have been collected, a finish line will appear. Players will need to race around the map in the fastest vehicles to be first in this mode. Next up is Nitrogen, another mode for solos, duos, and quads alike. If you’ve ever played Crazy Taxi before, you’ll feel right at home here. All players spawn into the map with their own taxi. From here, it’s a race to drop passengers off at their desired location. Be careful of others on the road, however, as kills can cause you to lose your progress. Nitrogen [Solo, Duos, Trios, Squads] – Earn Stars by delivering passengers in a Taxi. – Bonus Stars can be found in the world. – Eliminations also cause teams to drop Stars! – First to collect the target # of stars, wins! – If you get knocked, you’ll respawn in a new Taxi. pic.twitter.com/nr3ARJVP5x— iFireMonkey (@iFireMonkey) August 19, 2020 While information has slipped through the cracks for these modes, do take these details with a grain of salt. There’s a chance things change behind the scenes before they’re released. All of these modes were clearly planned for Season 3 of Fortnite. However, with Season 4 confirmed for an August 27 release, you can expect to see these over the next few weeks.

Fortnite leak hints that Trios mode could be returning soon – Dexerto
Fortnite leak hints that Trios mode could be returning soon Epic GamesA dedicated three-player squad game mode could potentially make its Chapter 2 debut, after a Fortnite data miner reported that ‘Trios’ have been spotted at the top of the playlists in the game’s interface. Teams of three may no longer have to match up against full squads of four for much longer. After an extended absence in matchmaking, Trios is evidently returning to Fortnite’s battle royale sooner than later. This info comes from verified Fortnite leaker @iFireMonkey, who reported on February 12 that the mode was “pushed to the top of the playlist in the API.” Trios was recently pushed to the top of the playlists in the API meaning that we should be expecting it to release again soon! — iFireMonkey (@iFireMonkey) February 12, 2020 It’s been almost a year since Trios was introduced to Fortnite as a limited time mode (LTM), and even before it was removed, players were asking for it to become a permanent addition to the game. The currently active LTM is Search and Destroy, based off the popular one used in Call of Duty and CS:GO. However, it appears that Trios will appear in the game as a limited-time mode again, according to iFireMonkey. According to the hotfix files, these are the next upcoming LTMs that will be releasing. [some might already be active] – Sneaky Silencers [Solo] – Bounty [Squad] – Trios [Trios, duh.] – Catch! [Squads]— iFireMonkey (@iFireMonkey) February 12, 2020 Even after it was officially removed from Fortnite, Trios were adopted as a preferred game mode by many members of the competitive community. Three of the most popular pro Fortnite players in FaZe’s Mongraal, NRG’s benjyfish, and now-Team Liquid’s Mitr0 competed together in Trios throughout 2019 and won several events together. Several fans have been asking for months for Trios to return, with some believing that it is the most ideal competitive mode in the game. I personally think trios is the best competitive game mode in fortnite. Thoughts? — hittrr (@hittrr) February 12, 2020 Given the timing of the upcoming announcement, Epic Games could be considering a revival of their competitive Trios competitions, and carry that momentum into a Trios tournament at the second Fortnite World Cup in summer of 2020. Considering how well these events performed in viewership in 2019, a World Cup appearance isn’t that far-fetched, and could be a tool developers are considering to help get more eyes on their big annual event. For any and all Fortnite news, including an official announcement regarding Trios, stay tuned to Dexerto.

Fortnite leak hints at Tomb Raider crossover with Lara Croft skin – Dexerto
Fortnite leak hints at Tomb Raider crossover with Lara Croft skin Epic Games / Square EnixFortnite players are convinced that the game’s next major crossover skin will be Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider franchise. When Season 5 of Epic Games’ popular battle royale launched in December 2020, it came with the theme of ‘bounty hunters’ as Agent Jonesy attempted to “gather the greatest hunters across all realities” to protect The Loop. So far, we’ve seen hunters including God of War’s Kratos, Halo’s Master Chief, The Walking Dead’s Daryl and Michonne, and of course The Mandalorian make appearances in the game as playable skins. Who’s next? Well, fans have been gathering clues – alongside a recent leak – and they think they’ve discovered that the next newcomer to The Island will be none other than Tomb Raider legend Lara Croft. Is Lara Croft going to be in Fortnite? According to Fortnite dataminer Mang0e, a new crossover skin codenamed ‘Typhoon’ will be arriving in the game soon. It will be a female character with reactive styles, and the portal on the map indicting her arrival has a ‘flicker’ effect. While codenames like this one don’t always have a link to the final skin, some fans believe that ‘Typhoon’ is a reference to the opening of 2013 reboot Tomb Raider, where Lara gets stranded on an island after a violent storm sinks her ship. As for being reactive, there could be a number of possibilities. One could be that as the player receives damage, the skin appears more bloody and bandaged up, which would reflect Lara’s modern appearance in the recent trilogy of games. A recent tweet from the official Tomb Raider account has added even more fuel to the fire. Using symbols, the tweet depicts Lara thinking about three emojis. One of them is a pickaxe, which is a piece of Fortnite iconography. Of course, Lara uses a pickaxe in her own game, but that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating. Lara would also fit the ‘hunter’ aspect of the season, as she uses her bow and arrow to hunt prey in the games. 。 o ○ ╭◜◝ ͡ ◜ ͡ ◜◝ ◜ ͡ ◝ ◜ ╮ ( ⛏️🏃🏻♀️🏹 ) ╰◟◞ ͜ ◟◞◟◞ ͜ ◟◞ ͜ ◞ ╯— Tomb Raider (@tombraider) January 11, 2021 The rumors have even got some dedicated fans creating their own artwork. Twitter user @wawa_cwoft mocked up what Lara Croft could look like as a Fortnite character, and it’s got us fully on board with the concept (as if we weren’t already). I would LOVE to say this was easy and didn’t take me hours, and that I’m actually satisfied with it… But alas… 😂 Here’s my very mediocre attempt at #LaraCroft in @FortniteGame! @TombRaider pic.twitter.com/cDmvvs5bOs — ✨Joshua (@wawa_cwoft) January 14, 2021 But what if it’s not Lara Croft? Well, there’s been heavy speculation about Metroid’s intergalactic bounty hunter Samus Aran joining Fortnite as a crossover skin. With Kratos representing PlayStation and Master Chief representing Xbox, Nintendo are the only company behind the ‘big three’ consoles who haven’t got a skin representing them yet. Samus could be perfect for the job. Whoever the new crossover skin turns out to be, fans will be able to get their hands on them soon enough as Season 5 of Fortnite is scheduled to come to an end on March 16, 2021.

Fortnite leak hints at Wolverine skin coming in Season 4 – Dexerto
Fortnite leak hints at Wolverine skin coming in Season 4 Marvel/Epic Games[jwplayer Puy4UiEa]Fortnite could soon have yet another comic book crossover as one leaker claimed that a Wolverine skin is in the works. As Fortnite has grown over the years, there have been a number of different crossovers with different pop culture icons. We’ve seen Netflix and Stranger Things get some cosmetics, Marvel’s Avengers had a few limited-time modes and skins, and Deadpool even gave the Yacht POI a makeover. As the hype is building ahead of Chapter 2, Season 4, there have been hints at another comic-themed crossover – with Marvel’s Thor seemingly being the one to have the spotlight. However, if a new claim from a leaker is to be believed, it might actually be Wolverine who gets all the attention in the next season. Is Wolverine coming to Fortnite? Reliable data miner HYPEX dropped a teasing tweet on August 15, stating that a “very trusted” source that informed them that the X-Men character could be appearing in the battle royale. “POSSIBLE Leak: Epic were planning to make a Wolverine skin & Wolverine Claws pickaxe, he might be the season 4 secret skin or just an item shop skin!” HYPEX tweeted. Sadly, the data miner did not offer up a follow-up tweet with any further information. Instead, their tweet left fans to speculate on the possibility of seeing the iconic X-Men character in the next season and just how he’d play into the upcoming theme. POSSIBLE Leak: Epic were planning to make a Wolverine skin & Wolverine Claws pickaxe, he might be the season 4 secret skin or just an itemshop skin! (this is from a very trusted source) — HYPEX (@HYPEX) August 15, 2020 Of course, Wolverine would be a pretty perfect fit in Fortnite, especially seeing as there are two-handed harvesting tools in-game that already look a little bit like his iconic metal claws. With the battle pass skin focus also seemingly switching from DC to Marvel again in Season 4, Wolverine fits the bill there too, but Epic Games could have different plans. So, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens once the start of the new season gets closer.

Fortnite leak hints at Rift Beacons returning to map – Dexerto
Fortnite leak hints at Rift Beacons returning to map Epic GamesLong-time Fortnite fans could see a familiar item returning to the battle royale after a new leak suggested that files for the Rift Beacons have returned. With Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2 approaching its conclusion, the v12.61 patch added some of the final new features, items, and files ahead of the cinematic finale event – including a major change to the storm where it might not encompass the map at all. With this patch being dropped, data miner and leakers have been trying to find what Epic still has in store before the season comes to end – with them getting their hands on cosmetics. Yet, there is still plenty of other things hiding in the files. Are Rift Beacons coming back to Fortnite? One seemingly major addition was pointed out by data miner TheBriteFuture, who noted that meshes for the Rift Beacons were seemingly added to the game’s files following the recent updates. The Rift Beacons, as many longtime Fortnite players will remember, appeared back in Season X and marked the upcoming map changes for that week. They became a constant figure during the season until the Black Hole event signaled the end of Fortnite as players knew it – eventually ushering in the major map changes and pivot to the new name of Fortnite Chapter 2. However, while many fans might see the possible re-addition of Rift Beacons and immediately get giddy about the possibility of constant map changes coming in the next season, that might not be the case. Some leakers have already pointed out that the cinematic event, that is happening on Saturday, May 30, might use the Rift Beacons in some way – be it to overhaul the current map or give players a flashback to the old one. Either way, however, we’ll just have to wait and see what Epic decides to do.

Fortnite leak hints at Lightning McQueen character skin but not how you think – Dexerto
Fortnite leak hints at Lightning McQueen character skin but not how you think epic games / disneyAccording to leaks, Disney’s Lightning McQueen could be coming to Fortnite. Here’s what you should know about the potential Cars collab. Following the Disney D23 event presentation in Fortnite which showcased fan-favorite NPCs rocking Marvel cosplays along with other skins from the franchise, well-known leaker ShiinaBR has just shared that Lightning McQueen from Cars could also be added to the game. Based on their post on X, apparently, Fortnite “might be working on ‘allowing characters as vehicles’ for future car skins & collaborations.” They added, “This information is coming from the same source that showed the Disney Item Shop to both.” Now, vehicle skins aren’t something entirely new in Fortnite since Rocket Racing was first introduced in Chapter 5, Season 1. That said, all of them do have one thing in common regardless of whether they are an original skin or a collab: they’re essentially just car decals and skins. However, take a look at the Lightning McQueen skin that already exists in Rocket League, and you can actually see that he looks pretty much alive, thanks to the extra animations in his eyes. Some of the car skins in Rocket League can already be imported to Fortnite, so assuming that’ll be the case with Lightning McQueen, the Battle Royale could be getting its first-ever car that’s a “character” and not just a skin. Do take this information with a grain of salt since Epic has yet to confirm anything. With that in mind, players are already excited and hyped to welcome the potential collab, despite the lack of any official word. “I imagine this would mean animated expressions and stuff for the car. Would be pretty awesome. One thing that’s going to be hard moving forward is the sizes of characters. Some heights and weights are going to be difficult to incorporate into the game,” commented one user. “Lightning McQueen in Fortnite sounds amazing,” mentioned another user. Aside from Lightning McQueen, a separate post revealed that we could also be getting collabs from other popular Pixar franchises, such as Toy Story, Monsters, Inc, and Ratatouille.

Fortnite leak hints at Marvel Portal POI for new superhero skins – Dexerto
Fortnite leak hints at Marvel Portal POI for new superhero skins Epic GamesFortnite data miners have revealed that a new Marvel Portal POI will be added in-game for the release of leaked Black Panther and Captain Marvel skins. After it was revealed that Epic Games and Marvel had partnered for Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4, the season was packed with new superhero skins, locations, and the highly-anticipated “Nexus War” event with Galactus. However, although there was plenty of fresh content added in the last season, Fortnite leakers have revealed that there are still some more Marvel-themed surprises on the way. It was previously leaked that more Marvel characters, such as Black Panther and Captain Marvel, will be released as character skins for players in Season 5. Read More: How to get The Big Chill exotic launcher – But, without the use of Thor’s Bifrost to travel to the Fortnite island, it has been shared that these characters will arrive through a “Marvel Portal” which will spawn from The Zero Point, according to Fortnite leaker HYPEX. HYPEX released an audio file of this new in-game portal and explained that it is likely to “appear soon” as a point-of-interest somewhere on the map. The Marvel Portal just got decrypted! (will appear soon) pic.twitter.com/7zPCBXpoOm — HYPEX (@HYPEX) December 19, 2020 This will not be the first portal to appear on the Fortnite map, as one can already be found near Salty Towers for the release of the Walking Dead’s Michonne and Daryl Dixon skins in the Item Shop. While it is unclear exactly how much these skins will cost, if the Walking Dead characters are anything to go by, they should be released for around 1800 V-bucks each. Read More: Where to find Holiday Trees in Fortnite – The new Black Panther and Captain Marvel skins will likely be released with some other cosmetics such as Back Blings and Pickaxes to go with their outfits. Another superhero, The Green Arrow, has also been leaked to arrive in-game, but as he is part of the DC Comics universe, it is possible that we could see another portal added for DC’s characters as well.

Fortnite leak hints at Lady Gaga concert for season finale – Dexerto
Fortnite leak hints at Lady Gaga concert for season finale YouTube / Epic GamesA new Fortnite emote leak has hinted that a Lady Gaga crossover is on the way, with many fans speculating that it could be another virtual concert or live event. Fortnite has collaborated with loads of artists over the years, from dance emotes based on hit songs like Dynamite and Say So to full-blown virtual concerts with stars including Travis Scott and Ariana Grande. One pop superstar who’s been rumored to appear in Fortnite for months now is Lady Gaga – and a fresh set of leaks has teased that a collaboration of some sort could finally be on the way. As shared by well-known Fortnite leaker Max, an upcoming collaborative emote called ‘Jug Band’ features the same melody as Lady Gaga’s hit single Poker Face when four players perform together. Of course, this could just be a fun emote and nothing more, but most pop songs that appear in Fortnite are recent hits or tracks that have gone viral on TikTok – neither of which really applies to Poker Face. Many fans have now started to speculate that a virtual Lady Gaga performance could be about to happen in Fortnite, similar to Ariana Grande’s Rift Tour concert that was held in August 2021. It’s also worth pointing out that a final Fortnite update (v21.51) is expected to arrive a week before the current season’s finale in September, which means any potential event files could be added then. This isn’t the first time Lady Gaga has been linked to Fortnite. Back in May 2021, documents from Epic Games’ lawsuit with Apple revealed they had been looking into a collaboration with the pop superstar. Quite a few crossovers that were revealed in those documents have since come to fruition, including The Rock, Naruto, J Balvin, and LeBron James, so it’s not unbelievable that more could be on the way. Interestingly, Fortnite is set to host another edition of their Pride event, Rainbow Royale, at some point in September. Lady Gaga is a huge LGBTQ+ icon, so it would definitely make sense to tie it all together. Of course, this is all just speculation and rumors for now, but it will be interesting to see if Lady Gaga follows in Ariana Grande’s (virtual) footsteps with a Fortnite concert of her own.

Fortnite leak hints at Launch Pads return in Season 5 – Dexerto
Fortnite leak hints at Launch Pads return in Season 5 Epic GamesFortnite seasons are all about doing out with the old and in with the new, but sometimes they bring back relics of the past, and if a recent leak is anything to go by, Launch Pads are set to make a comeback. [jwplayer uZppK6qI] Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 has been an incredible ride since it started back in August. However, now that it’s almost done and dusted, players have been looking forward to the next season. Like most season changes, it will undoubtedly include all kinds of new bits and pieces. Fortnite players anticipate everything from widespread map changes to new skins, weapons, and of course, battle pass content. It’s not always about what’s new, either. A new season often includes other changes such as the removal or ‘vaulting’ of past items. For example, in the latest season, Launch Pads were removed for the first time since they were added back in November 2017. It wasn’t the most significant change by any means, but it changed the landscape of the game to an extent. Launch Pads played a key role in any given game and often dictated the tempo and pacing. Fortnite players had mixed reactions about Launch Pads. Some felt they provided too much mobility and needed to be nerfed or removed. Others thought they were fine and made the game more interesting. Either way, a recent leak hints they might be making their way back into the game sooner than expected. Fortnite data miner ‘Mang0e’ was digging through the v14.60 game files and found that Launch Pads were in the mix. “It looks like some launch pad assets were added back into the files,” he said. It looks like some launch pad assets were added back into the files. pic.twitter.com/DdBysTXFYv — Mang0e (@Mang0e_) November 18, 2020 Keep in mind, though, finding Launch Pads in the files doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll be coming back to the game. For all we know, they could feature in an event or LTM. Still, considering the Unvaulted event has wrapped up and the Launch Pad was nowhere to be found, the leak is a strong indication that their return in Fortnite Season 5 could be on the cards. In the end, nobody will know for sure until the next season begins. However, it’s an exciting prospect that is bound to change the dynamic of the meta once again.

Fortnite leak hints at huge map changes coming to The Agency – Dexerto
Fortnite leak hints at huge map changes coming to The Agency Epic GamesA fresh Fortnite leak may have revealed a few big changes that could be in store for The Agency once the v12.60 patch finally drops. Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 launched with a Top Secret theme, as the new storyline revolved around a set of agents as well as the Ghost and Shadow factions. As the season has progressed, players have been taking on these agents and swearing allegiances to the different factions. As the season is rapidly approaching its endpoint, fans are gearing up for the v12.60 update – as well as a possible cinematic event. Though, a new leak may have just given Fortnite fans a look at what is in store for the battle royale’s most popular location – The Agency. The images were posted by reliable data miner iFireMonkey, who pointed out that a Shadow version of The Agency was added to the Fortnite files a few updates back. IFireMonkey noted that he wasn’t sure if it was a “red herring” or something that “will happen sometime during v12.60,” but the new-look version of The Agency is kitted out with links to the Shadow group. A few updates ago a shadow version for the Agency was added, considering he hasn’t swapped to Shadow yet this is either a red herring or will happen sometime during v12.60. Some slight changes such as the ghost statue can be seen removed from the shadow version. pic.twitter.com/xZyUZ9Dayo — iFireMonkey (@iFireMonkey) May 16, 2020 The data miner also noted that pretty much every reference to Ghost that is in the current version of The Agency would be removed – including the statue that stands by the respawn van. The reason the top half is missing is because it still uses the old version of the Agency as from what I can tell it doesn’t really have any references to Ghost except for a flag. Here is the ghost statue that will be removed when Shadow takes over the Agency. pic.twitter.com/AbRaoYz1J1 — FireMonkey • Fortnite Intel ? (@iFireMonkey) May 16, 2020 Now, of course, Epic has added things to the files in the past that they have left dormant and not used, and this version of The Agency could also fall into that category. As iFireMonkey also points out, it could be a red herring from the developers that would throw leakers off the trial for whatever they have planned in the coming updates. Epic did similar recently with the Travis Scott concert by keeping his name away from the items they eventually used in the event. So, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens with this alternative version of The Agency.

Fortnite leak hints at Aquaman villain skin coming soon – Dexerto
Fortnite leak hints at Aquaman villain skin coming soon Epic Games / DC ComicsFortnite data miners have uncovered leaked Item Shop files which hint towards new cosmetics for Aquaman’s villain, Black Manta, coming to the battle royale title in Season 3. Following Deadpool’s introduction as a character in Season 2, Epic Games shared that many of the changes planned for Fortnite’s third season would be themed around yet another superhero. DC Comics star Aquaman was revealed to be next-in-line, and after being teased in the Season 3 trailer, he has been added at the perfect time, with Fortnite’s map still flooded after the end-of-season event. The weekly challenges for players to unlock Aquaman’s skin and other cosmetics have already been made available, and it looks like other characters in his universe are also on their way to Fortnite. Prominent Fortnite leaker Hypex claimed that Aquaman’s nemesis, Black Manta, would also be introduced in Season 3 after uncovering Item Shop leaks featuring his cosmetics. Hypex explained that Black Manta’s dual blades are also expected to be released as a harvesting tool in Fortnite, allowing players to fully replicate the villain’s outfit in-game. Big Shop Leak: Black Manta and the Black Manta Blades (Dualies) will be in the Item Shop on the 16th at 14:00 GMT! Aquaman (Secret BP Character) will also be releasing at that time. — HYPEX (@HYPEX) July 3, 2020 These new cosmetics are currently expected to be released on Thursday, June 16 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM BST/ 5 PM CEST along with Aquaman’s skin. Black Manta is one of Aquaman’s biggest villains and is known for having a vendetta against the Atlantean hero, even designing a scientifically enhanced suit for underwater combat. While it is unlikely that these same skills would translate to Fortnite, some players have suggested that Epic Games could incorporate the feud between the pair in the storyline for the new season. It has also been leaked that Aquaman’s home Atlantis could added to the game as a point-of-interest during the third season, further fueling rumors that they may have something to do with future map changes.

Fortnite leak drops biggest hint of map being destroyed yet – Dexerto
Fortnite leak drops biggest hint of map being destroyed yet Epic GamesLots of theories have been pointing to the destruction of the Fortnite Season 10 map and we might have just gotten our biggest hint yet. Instead of creating multiple maps, Epic Games have been retooling the Fortnite map over the seasons and switching out old locations with new ones. Now that we’re nearly 11 seasons in, it appears a major shakeup is on the verge of happening and we’re on the cusp of getting a brand-new map. Numerous theories have pointed towards some sort of major event to close out Season 10 and it’s looking like that event could end up resulting in a new map if these leaks are anything to go off. A screenshot posted to r/FortniteLeaks by user PokemonLegacy6 reveals players will be transported to a spot well off the island where they’ll be able to watch the event. This is definitely the biggest hint yet that something major will be happening to the map. We know the Visitor is currently working on a rocket which originally was set to decimate Tilted Towers back in Season 4, but that didn’t work out so maybe he’s going to make it work this time. We also know the final event’s name is “The End” if the leaks are correct on that front. If the map isn’t destroyed by this event, it’s almost a given that something just as big will be happening. There’s a lot of info out there that points us towards a new map, even if Epic have shown they would like to continuously update to their current one. Despite all the changes over the seasons, the locations have started to feel more or less the same, which has led fans to ask for a new map. Keep in mind that this is currently all just a leak and until it comes from Epic Games themselves, it should be taken with a grain of salt. Even though there is a lot of evidence, it can’t be confirmed just yet.

Fortnite leak supposedly reveals custom battle bus options coming soon – Dexerto
Fortnite leak supposedly reveals custom battle bus options coming soon Epic GamesNew Fortnite leaks seemingly reveal custom battle bus options that could be added into the popular battle royale title in a nearby update. While weekly challenges are often leaked ahead of time, and various weapons pop up in the game’s files before they become available, a fresh set of leaks has shed new light on a long-awaited feature in Fortnite. First datamined in September, 2018, then uncovered once again in April, 2019, customizable battle bus options have once again slipped through the cracks and seem to tease that the feature could finally be implemented soon. Rather than dropping into the map on the same bus like everyone else, players could soon be able to change its appearance thanks to a litany of unlockable cosmetics. According to Fortnite data miner @spedicey1, an option exists in the customization menu to change the style of the vehicle. “Jump from a personalized battle bus,” the tooltip reads. While earlier leaks have pulled information from specific chunks of code, this appears to be the first in-game look at the potential option. There’s no telling exactly how intricate the customization could become, perhaps players will be able to change various aspects of the battle bus, or simply apply one overall skin to the vehicle. When hovering over the option in-game, however, the data miner’s screen goes completely black except for the Heads Up Display showcasing an Uncommon Halloween themed bus. While a number of themes have taken over the bus throughout holiday festivities, this option appears to let players lock in a certain visual style for good. This option could pave the way for countless designs to be released alongside seasonal events, and during collaborations with major franchises like Star Wars and Avengers. With Season 2 well underway, and Deadpool’s antics being an underlying theme, there’s a chance the crude mercenary could even be the one to change how players drop into the map. Due to a lack of confirmation from Epic, however, there’s currently no indication that this feature will, in fact, be implemented in the near future. After all, the leaked setting has come and gone through a number of updates in the past.

Fortnite leak confirms Fantastic Four coming to Chapter 5 Season 4 – Dexerto
Fortnite leak confirms Fantastic Four coming to Chapter 5 Season 4 FortniteA post by Marvel Entertainment confirmed more Fantastic Four content to go along with Doctor Doom’s arrival in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4. Launching on August 16, 2024, Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 4, titled Absolute Doom, promises an exciting superhero-themed adventure. This new season marks a grand return of a Marvel season after a two-year hiatus. Players can look forward to an array of comic-inspired skins like Gwenpool, as well as the more controversial Captain Jonesy and Peelverine. Marvel Entertainment recently dropped a hint through a TikTok slideshow showcasing a previously unrevealed Fantastic Four point of interest in Fortnite. The new POI, Fantastic Felled, features a rundown blue Fantastic Four sign in a grassy field. It will be located near the gas station on the edge of the Underworld. The slideshow, which includes images of Castle Doom, was reposted by the official Fortnite TikTok account. This confirms the existence of the Fantastic Felled POI. While Epic Games hasn’t confirmed whether the Fantastic Four themselves would be a part of this collab, that hasn’t stopped players from sharing their excitement on social media. Hypex, a trusted dataminer, theorized that the season could feature a “Mini Pass + Mythics” setup. This could significantly boost mid-season interest, similar to previous Avatar and Star Wars events. Additionally, Ako Fortnite News speculated that the name “Fantastic Felled” might imply a storyline where Doom defeated the Fantastic Four. This would weave into the narrative that wrapped up Chapter 5 Season 3 in the live event. After “the worst season” in Fortnite history, this Marvel collaboration could re-engage players in Chapter 5 Season 4. The battle pass already features a cast of Fortnite characters sporting Marvel superheroes’ attires.

Fortnite leak confirms Street Fighter crossover skins coming soon – Dexerto
Fortnite leak confirms Street Fighter crossover skins coming soon Epic Games / CapcomNew leaks have pointed to Street Fighter being the next major crossover to arrive in Fortnite Season 5, with potentially two iconic fighters joining the fight. Epic Games’ hit battle royale Fortnite has slowly become the king of crossovers, with the likes of Star Wars character The Mandalorian, 80s movie villain Predator, and even The Walking Dead’s Daryl and Michonne appearing in the game. Players are always on the lookout for who will be next to arrive on The Island, and if these new leaks are anything to go by, it looks like Fortnite might be getting another pair of Gaming Legends skins. Street Fighter skins coming to Fortnite Throughout Season 5, a number of ‘hunter portals’ have appeared across the map. Each one has hinted at an upcoming crossover skin, with imagery and sounds giving away clues as to who will be next. Prominent Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR has shared a first-look at one of the newest portals to arrive on The Island, and it will look very familiar to fans of Capcom’s long-running fighting franchise Street Fighter. As you can see in the video above, the imagery that appears in the portal is lifted directly from one of the classic Street Fighter games, while the audio also acts as a teaser. Shortly after the audio files and images were leaked to the world, ShiinaBR tweeted the actual ad for the two skins, confirming that Chun-Li and Ryu were officially coming to the game. Given the fact that we have the ad and the audio/image files for the portal leaked, and considering how soon we get skins normally after they leak, it’s safe assume that they are coming at some point within the next few days, possibly even tonight or tomorrow when the store resets. https://twitter.com/ShiinaBR/status/1362830033904140292?s=20 Chun-Li and Ryu will join the new Gaming Legends series of skins that debuted in Season 5. So far, we’ve seen God of War’s Kratos and Halo’s Master Chief make appearances, but unfortunately, there’s been no showing from Nintendo. We’ll keep this article updated when a release date for the Street Fighter crossover is officially announced by Epic Games.

Fortnite leak claims The Getaway LTM returning soon – Dexerto
Fortnite leak claims The Getaway LTM returning soon Epic Games[jwplayer Puy4UiEa]Fortnite’s super popular limited-time mode, The Getaway, could soon be making a return if new information from data miners is to be believed. While the majority of Fortnite players can be found in either the usual battle royale or Save the World modes, there are plenty of fans who dedicate themselves to the rotating cast of limited-time modes. These LTMs put a different spin on the battle royal mode by either constricting the loot pool, keeping players locked in one part of the map, or giving them an actual objective to work towards. Some of these have been super popular in the past but perhaps none more so than The Getaway. The limited-time mode, where players have to steal a Jewel and take it to an escape van, first made its debut back in Season 5 and was last seen in Season 8 following the V8.10 update. However, it could be making a return soon enough. VastBlast, a Fortnite data miner, noted that the LTM is a part of a list that have been “hotfixed” to the game’s servers. “They are currently disabled but will likely enable soon,” Vast posted, noting that they should release in their listed order. The Getaway falls at the end of the list behind Knockout: Shuffle, Knockout: Air Raid, Rags to Riches, and Tank Battles. So, it could be a little wait just yet. The following LTMs have been hotfixed to the servers! They are currently disabled but will most likely enable soon (order of release/date is unknown): -“”Knockout: Shuffle”” (Sq) -“”Knockout: Air Raid”” (Sq) -“”Rags to Riches”” (Duo/Sq) -“”Tank Battle”” (Duo/Sq) -“”The Getaway”” (Duo/Sq)— VastBlast (@VastBlast) August 10, 2020 Obviously, the return of The Getaway might have some fans getting giddy about potentially ticking off some of the challenges that were associated with the mode. However, it’s unknown if they will be returning. It’s also unknown if the backblings that were available solely through winning games will return. With the mode being so popular, Epic will more than likely tease its return closer to its release so we’ll just have to wait and see if they say anything about the cosmetics.

Fortnite leak claims The Mandalorian map changes & new cosmetics coming soon – Dexerto
Fortnite leak claims The Mandalorian map changes & new cosmetics coming soon Epic GamesA new Fortnite leak has claimed that The Mandalorian POI is set for a change at some point in Season 5 amid claims that the Star Wars character could also be getting even more cosmetics. Prior to the start of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 5, rumors were abound that The Mandalorian from Star Wars was set to become the new secret skin – just like Deadpool and Aquaman had been in previous seasons. When the new season went live, the Star Wars character – as well as his Baby Yoda companion – joined the fight as a part of the new hunters that have descended onto the battle royale. Other outside characters, such as Master Chief and Kratos from God of War, have been given cosmetics bundles, but the Mando is different because he has his own point of interest on the map. However, that looks set to change in the near future. Fortnite dataminer InTheShadeYT tweeted, on January 1, that they’d heard from an Epic Games artist that the Mando’s Razor Crest was set to look a little different as Season 5 unfolds. “According to an Epic Games concept artist, the Mandalorian crash site will be seeing some changes later this season!” they tweeted, sparking speculation about what could be set to happen. Prior leaks have claimed that the map is set to constantly evolve over the course of the season – with old POIs coming back with new twists – and it seems likely that the Mando’s crash site will be impacted by this. According to an Epic Games concept artist, the Mandolorian crash site will be seeing some changes later this season! pic.twitter.com/IEESmkBhxv — InTheShade (@InTheShadeYT) January 1, 2021 Additionally, previous leaks have also claimed that the bounty hunter would also be getting his own pickaxe to complete the set of cosmetics that are in-game. Some speculated that it could be the Darksaber or Beskar Spear from the Disney+ series, but, it looks like it’ll be something a bit simpler than that, as an in-game leak has claimed that it’ll simply be modeled on his rifle. Of course, until these are released in-game, the leaks are to be taken with a pinch of salt because things could change – especially when it comes to the pickaxe.

Fortnite leak claims new Marshmello cosmetics coming for Party Royale – Dexerto
Fortnite leak claims new Marshmello cosmetics coming for Party Royale Epic GamesA brand-new Fortnite leak has suggested there could be a line of fresh Marshmello-themed cosmetics in the works following the launch of Party Royale. All the way back in Season 7, Fortnite changed the game with their pop-culture crossovers by giving popular EDM star Marshmello his own concert at Pleasant Park. Millions of players turned up at the concert, with Marshmello himself giving live call-outs about busting out a dancing emote and hyping up the crowd. Since then, there have been other live events, with Travis Scott’s Astronomical concert taking things to the next level before Epic introduced the Party Royale. The party hub has already seen DJs like Major Lazer take on a shortened set and release some cosmetics, so could Marshmello be working his way back into the mix? Reliable Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey pointed out that the DJ had a few file changes back in the 12.50 patch, seemingly suggesting that some new cosmetics could be about to hit the item shop. Most notable of these files changes is the update to an unreleased weapon wrap. Having an unreleased item being worked on appears to suggest that Epic has something up their sleeve for the near future – otherwise, they probably would have just left it how it was if they weren’t going to release it. Marshmello x Fortnite Update: I was looking more into the files as we saw some Marshmello related stuff was added in v12.50 and I found out multiple different things such the old Weaponskin material for the unreleased Marshmello wrap was updated Also some skin files got updated pic.twitter.com/aSagmCnQie — iFireMonkey (@iFireMonkey) May 6, 2020 Of course, the possibility of having Marshmello back in the item shop is good news for players who may not have been around when he was originally released. However, if it is released again, some long-time fans will no longer be able to brag about having a pretty rare, earlier season’s skin. Whether or not the new cosmetics will be released anytime soon though, is anyone’s guess. Epic hasn’t teased another Marshmello crossover as obvious as they did last time, so this might just come as a surprise later down the line. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Fortnite leak claims Dead by Daylight crossover happening soon – Dexerto
Fortnite leak claims Dead by Daylight crossover happening soon Fortnite might be expanding its metaverse into another popular multiplayer franchise as rumors claim the battle royale will be crossing over with Dead by Daylight. Epic Games has turned Fortnite into a collaboration machine leaving no form of content untouched. From popular streamers to movie characters to pop stars, the battle royale has expanded its arsenal of cosmetics to appeal to numerous fanbases. Fortnite even teams up with other video games. It started with Master Chief and Kratos, and the most recent video game crossover was with Among Us. This has led fans to speculate what video game could be getting a crossover next. Luckily, a notable leaker claims the asymmetric horror multiplayer game Dead by Daylight might have the battle royale in its sights. Fortnite x Dead by Daylight rumor According to notable Fortnite leaker Shiina, an anonymous source provided an image claiming a Dead by Daylight collaboration was happening soon. This crossover would include cosmetics for both games. The rumor claims players can earn a Llama Charm in Dead by Daylight, which depicts a Loot Llama from Fortnite and can be attached to different items used by Killers and Survivors. In Fortnite, players can obtain the Meg Thomas skin. Thomas is an original character from Dead by Daylight and her cosmetic set will likely include a pickaxe and back bling. RUMOR: A Fortnite X Dead by Daylight collaboration might happen soon! According to an anonymous source that has sent me this image and some other proof a few days ago, we could get a “”Llama”” charm in DBD, and a “”Meg Thomas”” skin in Fortnite! pic.twitter.com/HaaqFNLYj0 — Shiina (@ShiinaBR) June 26, 2022 Epic Games has yet to officially announce this crossover, but interaction with Dead by Daylight on Twitter has players even more convinced it’s coming. In October of 2021, Epic and DBD shared a Twitter exchange where Epic invited the horror game to Fortnite. While this could have been a cheeky exchange among social media managers, Fortnite has been known to tease crossovers well in advance using replies on Twitter.

Fortnite leak claims more Suicide Squad skins in the works – Dexerto
Fortnite leak claims more Suicide Squad skins in the works Epic Games/DC ComicsA fresh Fortnite leak has suggested that more Suicide Squad skins could be coming to the battle royale, and they’re not quite who you might expect. For years, Epic Games has blazed a trail with Fortnite and its crossovers – linking up with everybody from DC to Marvel, Netflix, the NFL, and a number of football clubs across the globe. Most recently, they’ve once again teamed up with DC Comics to celebrate the launch of The Suicide Squad with Idris Elba’s character, Bloodsport, appearing in Fortnite as a skin. The crossover isn’t just limited to the one skin, however. There are a handful of other cosmetics in-game too, and there could be a few more skins on offer as well, but it’s bad news for Peacemaker fans. Following the recent v17.40 patch, which brought the Among Us-like ‘Imposter Mode’ to the battle royale, data miners managed to their hands on plenty of unreleased skins and cosmetics. Amongst all the confirmed skins, leaker ShiinaBR was quick to point out that there are possibly two more Suicide Squad skins coming to Fortnite – King Shark and Weasel. “If Epic is still working on the Suicide Squad skins, these will be the characters we most likely get: SeesawSea = King Shark. SeesawFuzzy = Weasel,” the leaker tweeted. Though there are no images of the skins themselves and it’s only photos of the characters from the movie itself. If Epic is still working on the Suicide Squad skins, these will be the characters we most likely get: SeesawSea = King Shark SeesawFuzzy = Weasel (WTF is this thing???)(Thanks to @sharktoofs1 for explaining to me that the 2nd codename is most likely related to Weasel!) pic.twitter.com/kOdgrg0xU9 — Shiina (@ShiinaBR) August 18, 2021 With both skins having a codename, it seems likely that they’ll actually release instead of being teased for some time and then never seeing the light of day. As for when they’ll be available, well, who knows. There have been rumors of other crossovers coming later this season – including a Naruto skin – so these could be on the backburner for now.

League champion Jinx will be dropping onto the Island as a new skin in Fortnite. Epic Games have been spoiling Fortnite players with one impressive crossover after the other throughout Chapter 2 Season 8 including Resident Evil favorites Chris and Jill, as well as another Spacefarer Ariana Grande skin. The highly-anticipated Naruto crossover was expected to be the next one in line. However, it’s now been announced that something equally impressive is on the cards: Fortnite will be crossing paths with League of Legends. The crossover perfectly coincides with the launch of Riot Games’ new animated series, Arcane, featuring one of the show’s main characters: Jinx! Here’s everything you need to know about the new crossover skin. Contents How to get League of Legends’ Jinx skin in Fortnite Like most premium skins in Fortnite, League of Legends fans will be able to get their hands on the new Jinx skin by purchasing it from the Item Shop when it goes live. It doesn’t seem as though there’s a way to get the Jinx skin for free right now – sometimes Epic Games host tournaments with skins given out as rewards for the top competitors. Fortnite League of Legends’ Jinx skin release date The League of Legends’ Jinx skin should be released when the Fortnite Item Shop resets on Friday, November 4, 2021, at 8pm ET. That converts to 5pm ET and 12am BST (on November 5) for players in the UK. How much is Fortnite’s Arcane Jinx skin? Fortnite Lead reveals Midas was changed last second before Chapter 2 arrival – Dexerto
Fortnite Lead reveals Midas was changed last second before Chapter 2 arrival Epic GamesA lead member of the Fortnite team has revealed a big change was made to Midas just a day before he was added to the game. There have been several notable villains across Fortnite’s lifespan but few have had as big an impact as Midas. The bad guy with the golden touch, his sleek design has garnered him quite the fanbase despite being one of the baddies. While the version we know and love (or loathe, depending on who you are) has made a big splash around the community, one big-time Fortnite dev says that his signature style was actually the result of a last-second change that made him ‘cooler’ than how he was initially imagined. Fortnite developer reveals crucial last-second change to Midas In an Instagram post, Epic Games’ Chief Creative Officer Donald Mustard revealed that Midas was actually supposed to be wearing glasses on his in-game model all the way up to the final hours before Season 2’s release. “We wanted him to feel erudite and calculating. But it just didn’t work,” he said. “He didn’t look cool enough. So… cut!!!” This is a minor change but the difference is pretty stark. The glasses-wearing statue version embedded above does look friendlier than the meticulous villain that we’ve come to know. It’s also interesting to note that there are still props out there that feature this version of the character, likely due to the fact that the decision to change him came so late in the process of getting Chapter 2 Season 2 out into the hands of players. Now, Jinx’s sister Vi is packing a punch with her own Fortnite skin. Fortnite Lead Designer drops bizarre cryptic clue for Season 8 – Dexerto
Fortnite Lead Designer drops bizarre cryptic clue for Season 8 Design Lead for Fortnite‘s Battle Royale mode, Eric Williamson, has confused and intrigued fans, by dropping a cryptic, and very odd, teaser for Season 8. With Season 7 coming to an end on February 28, all eyes are looking to March 1, when Season 8 is expected to be underway. With each successive season in Fortnite, more ambitious and extravagant changes to gameplay, the map and modes have been introduced, and Season 8 is expected to continue that trend. But, with the new season less than one week away, fans still know little to nothing about what to expect when the v8.00 update finally drops on February 28. During an AMA on Reddit on February 22, Williamson answered a fan’s request to “describe Season 8 in four words” – with a truly head scratching response. Simple writing ‘Banana’ four times, Fortnite fans were likely left slightly more confused than they were before, but nonetheless intrigued. 700As for ‘Banana’, this could be a hint towards a jungle biome, as fans have been predicting for numerous seasons. Some have pointed out a possible link to monkeys, and some sort of tropical environment. Update: Epic Games have now released the first official teaser for Season 8 – and fans think it’s hinting at a Pirate them. Perhaps bananas could be a new item – maybe a trap or consumable. Consumable apples, which give health, and Mushrooms, which give shield, are currently available on the Fortnite map – so maybe bananas are next? It’s all a guessing game right now, and fans will just have to wait until the Season 8 trailer drops, presumably on February 28.

Fortnite Lava Legends pack revealed and it looks unbelievable – Dexerto
Fortnite Lava Legends pack revealed and it looks unbelievable Background: Fortnite BunkerEpic Games have confirmed that the previously leaked Lava Legends cosmetic pack will soon land in Fortnite Battle Royale‘s online Item Shop. Fortnite Season 8 has been largely shaped by a number of big changes in the northeast side of the map, including a brand new volcano springing up near the old location of Wailing Woods. Coming up next, it looks like molten rock is not only going to pouring all over the map in a new ‘The Floor is Lava’ LTM, but a number of lava inspired cosmetics will soon be available for battle royale players to purchase. Following the arrival of the v8.20 patch, which included controversial changes to health and eliminations, data miner @Lucas7yoshi leaked the new Lava Legends pack and it has since been confirmed by the game’s developer. As is the case with many of these cosmetic packs, there are a number of new skins to take a look at, the new package will also include two brand new Back Blings, a glider and a weapon wrap. Lava Legends Pack: What’s included? The bulk of cosmetics included in this pack are Legendary, in terms of their rarity, and the Molten Battle Hound skin (left), as well as the Molten Valkyrie outfit (right) are already generating a lot of interest. The new Back Blings are easily distinguishable too, as one is a Molten Crested Cape and the other is a set of dragon wings, which is expected to have an official name of Molten Valkyrie Wings. The Lavawing glider, as seen in the top left, and the Epic Magma weapon wrap. If you would like to take a look at each of these items one by one, the full list can be seen below: Lava Legends Pack: New Skins For those wanting a closer look at the skins, Fortnite professional player Brett ‘Dakotaz‘ Hoffman has also shared a video on Twitter which shows a 360° view of the pair in-game – as seen below. NEW LAVA LEGENDS PACK = :fire: rolling out march 29th pic.twitter.com/6tpREClOCP— dakotaz (@dakotaz) March 27, 2019 Lava Legends Pack: Back Blings Lava Legends Pack: Other Cosmetics The new package of cosmetics was not the only piece of unreleased content to be revealed by data miners since Fortnite’s v8.20 update went live, as a number of other skins, gliders and pickaxes were leaked. Some streamers have already been granted access to play with the new characters and use the Lava Legends cosmetics. We’ll keep you updated on when they will be available for everybody in the Item Shop as soon as the announcement is made.

Fortnite lawsuit reveals The Rock, Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande skins, Metroid crossover, more – Dexerto
Fortnite lawsuit reveals The Rock, Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande skins, Metroid crossover, more Epic GamesEpic Games’ lawsuit against Apple has begun and during the first day, the Fortnite developer revealed a ton of interesting collaborations that were planned at one point in time and may still come to the title in the future. At this point in time, it’s safe to say that Fortnite’s numerous collaborations with other properties and companies are one of the main draws for new players. Fans see Iron Man or The Flash in the game and they want to get involved, which is why it is so successful. Most seem to have the opinion that, at this point, no property or celebrity is off limits when it comes to a Fortnite collaboration and some new leaks seem to be proving that sentiment right. Here’s a thread of every collab that has been scrapped or postponed for unknown reasons as per the court documents from the Epic Games vs. Apple trial pic.twitter.com/07ZvqcSlIe — Fortnite News (@FortINTEL) May 3, 2021 During first day of the Epic Games vs. Apple lawsuit, the former revealed a ton of interesting facts about Fortnite, including revenue information, planned and scrapped content, and more. Because of this, a ton of collaborations that were either once in the works and now scrapped or still planned have come to light and some of them may surprise you. Most notably, at one point in time Epic Games were planning on collaborating with numerous celebrities and properties in one way shape or form, including The Rock, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Lebron James, and more. The full list can be found below and while some make more sense than others, some are pretty surprising to say the least. The Rock – Ariana Grande – Lady Gaga – Lebron James – J Balvin – Katniss Everdeen (The Hunger Games) – The Bride (Kill Bill) – John McClane (Die Hard) – Snake Plissken (Escape from New York) – Samus Aran (Metroid) – Naruto – It’s worth pointing at that just because these plans were confirmed, doesn’t mean they are still happening. A lot of these collaborations have clearly either been delayed or even scrapped entirely, as evidenced by some of the release windows that have come and gone. That being said, they may still see the light of day in the future. All in all, it’s safe to say that, even though some OG players may not like them, Fortnite isn’t stopping with the collaborations any time soon. While it’s unknown which, if any, of the aforementioned collabs might come next, it’s safe to say that players should prepare for more.

Fortnite players blown away as Chapter 5 brings over 1,200 LEGO Style skins – Dexerto
Fortnite players blown away as Chapter 5 brings over 1,200 LEGO Style skins Epic Games / LEGOEpic Games announced the introduction of new LEGO skins into Fortnite, allowing players to use alternate LEGO versions for over 1,200 outfits. Fortnite had introduced many skins in the past, collaborating with massively popular movies and TV shows, like Dragon Ball, Jujustu Kaisen, and most recently Family Guy. With Chapter 5 Season 1 Epic Games announced they have been working hard to bring new LEGO-themed skins to the game, but they have now officially said that there will be over 1,200 “LEGO-style” alternative outfits for players to use on skins. These will allow players to hold on to their favorite styles from Fortnite’s base game while exploring the new mode, and players are estatic that Epic Games is willing to offer so many alternate looks. Fortnite wows players with over 1,200 LEGO-Style skins Epic Games revealed that on December, 7, LEGO Fortnite would be launching with an “all-new survival crafting adventure” and “1,200 Outfits now have a LEGO® Style in addition to their regular Fortnite Style!“ Images of the Minifigure icons for the skins have also been teased, and players are now eagerly anticipating the release. “Love them,” one player said in a response to the post. “Take all my money,” another Fortnite fan agreed, and the community pretty unanimously agreed that the skins looked “great.” What’s more, all of these skins will be free for those who already own their counterparts in Fortnite’s regular mode. If you already own a certain skin in the base game, its counterpart will be given to you at no additional charge. That said, these Fortnite LEGO skins won’t all be coming at once. Instead, they’ll gradually be rolled out as they’re made. For more detail on how to convert your regular skins to LEGO ones and info on how to figure out which skins have been converted over, you can read our guide on the topic here.

Fortnite Last Laugh trailer hints Joker might bring back C4s – Dexerto
Fortnite Last Laugh trailer hints Joker might bring back C4s Epic Games / DC ComicsFortnite’s Last Laugh Bundle trailer finally dropped, but although it shows off some incredible DC Skins including Joker, Midas, and Poison Ivy, it’s also got fans wondering whether C4s might be coming back to the game.[jwplayer so0eN9Pk] Epic Games announced Fortnite’s Last Laugh Skin Bundle several months ago. However, a lot of time has passed since then, and fans were left wondering when it would be added to the game. Fortunately, Epic Games has finally broken their silence once again and released an official trailer on November 10. It showed off some incredible DC Skins including Midas, Poison Ivy, and of course, Joker. The skins have drawn a lot of attention and praise. However, something else that featured in the trailer has sparked even more excitement; in addition to cackling maniacally and clowning around, Joker wreaks havoc with C4s. https://twitter.com/iFireMonkey/status/1326245491059929088?s=20 C4s have been a divisive topic among Fortnite players for many years. Some players think they’re a great way to deal with opponents who camp and turtle, especially in competitive modes. However, others believe they’re a little too overpowered. Epic Games has added and removed multiple times, which only added more fuel to the fire. They’ve even tried nerfing it by making players only find one at a time. But in the end, they decided to remove them from the game, and it’s been that way ever since. Now, in yet another turn of events, it looks like C4s are back in business, at least for a while. It’s hard to find a more fitting weapon for Joker to use. If they were going to bring it back for any character, it had to be him. Keep in mind, though, that it’s all speculation about the C4s until Epic Games makes an official announcement. For all we know, Joker using them in the trailer might not mean anything other than a way to make the announcement more comical. Either way, the Last Laugh Bundle is locked in and ready to go. Joker, Midas, and Poison Ivy skins will hit the Item Shop later on in the week. If you want to get your hands on them, don’t forget. Otherwise, you might miss out.

Fortnite: Landing Pod, Giant Glowing cube and Loot Lake rift locations – Dexerto
Fortnite: Landing Pod, Giant Glowing cube and Loot Lake rift locations Epic GamesFortnite’s Meteoric Rise challenges are now live and while the tasks seem simple enough, one tasks you with finding a landing pod, entering the rift at loot lake and touching a giant glowing cube – and we’ve got the exact locations you need. Following the v10.30 update, which introduced the Moisty Palms and Greasy Grove rift zones, data miners and leakers were able to get their hands on some brand new cosmetics and challenges that would be released later in the season. The most interesting of which was the ‘Visitor Volta’ look that combined the Visitor and the BRUTE Mech suit. That, however, has now been changed to ‘The Scientist’ and can only be claimed through the Meteoric Rise challenges. But don’t fret, if you’ve searched those ammo boxes but aren’t sure where to find the locations of a landing pod, giant glowing cube, or a rift at Loot Lake – we’ve got you covered. Where to find a Landing Pod in a Meteor Wall To find the Landing Pod within a Meteor wall, you want to head to the Meteor that appeared at the start of season ten above Dusty Depot. Read More: How to stop Taco Time in Greasy Grove – Instead of landing on top and grabbing loot, head to either side that has an opening to the middle of the meteor. Once you’re inside, the black and red landing pod will either be on your left or straight ahead of you – depending on which of the two entry points that you went through. You can’t miss it though – it’s exact location is pictured below. Where to touch a giant glowing cube Outside of that, the ‘touch a giant glowing cube’ part of the challenge may seem a little confusing, but it’s actually at a pretty obvious location. You want to head to the floating island, which is currently between Snobby Shores and Haunted Hills, where the Motel sits. You don’t need to land on the island however, you just need to hit the cube that it sits upon. You can do this by landing underneath and flying up with the wind that takes you skywards. Bump into the cube and watch the challenge progress. Where to enter a Rift above Loot Lake The final part of the challenge tasks you with entering the Rift that sits above Loot Lake. This is the most obvious of the three but Loot Lake can be a difficult area to navigate. The easiest way to complete this part is by landing on Loot Lake and gliding through the Rift but if you mess that up, don’t worry. Grab some materials, head into the middle, and build a ramp close to the rift. Once you’re high enough, jump off and go through. After you’ve hit all three portions of this task, the challenge will be complete and you’ll be one step closer to grabbing the brand-new The Scientist skin that Epic has put up for grabs. So, go and jump into a match and put your new-found knowledge to use.

Fortnite Klombos spawn locations: Where to find the dinosaur in Chapter 3 – Dexerto
Fortnite Klombos spawn locations: Where to find the dinosaur in Chapter 3 Epic GamesThe legendary Klombos dinosaurs have finally arrived in Fortnite Chapter 3, so we’ve put together a guide to finding their spawn locations – and what happens if you shoot them. Fortnite Chapter 3’s first big update (19.10) has arrived, and it’s brought loads of new features to the game including the Grenade Launcher, another League of Legends skin, and of course the return of Tilted Towers. But arguably the most exciting addition is the long-teased Klombo, a dinosaur-like wild animal that roams around the Island. As well as sneezing out useful items, players can also use its blowhole to launch into the air and glide. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about the legendary Klombos, including the best locations to find them, how to feed them Klomberries, and why you don’t want to make them angry. Contents Klombo spawn locations – Can you tame or ride a Klombo? – Where to find Klomberries – What happens if you try to eliminate a Klombo? – Klombo spawn locations in Fortnite Klombos are big creatures, so they can only spawn in large open areas on the Fortnite map. Two of the best locations to find a Klombo are northwest of the Daily Bugle or northwest of Tilted Towers. We’ve marked these Klombo locations on the map below to make finding them a little easier. Like all wild animals in Fortnite, Klombos spawn at random on the map, so you’re not always guaranteed to find one. You’ll also rarely find them inside a POI or landmark, as there’s not enough room for them. If you’re struggling to find a Klombo, our best advice is to find a vehicle and drive around the Island until you see one. As they’re new in Fortnite, there will be other players on the hunt, so bring some weapons. Can you tame or ride a Klombo in Fortnite? While other animals in Fortnite can be tamed and used as sidekicks to help you eliminate opponents, you can’t tame or ride a Klombo, which is a shame as it looks like it would be a really great ally in battle. You can, however, get some airtime using its blowhole. To do this, simply jump onto its tail and walk up its back. Stand on its head, and you’ll eventually be blown into the air, where you can then glide away. Klombos are docile creatures, meaning they won’t attack unless you do first. Where to find Klomberries to feed a Klombo Once you’ve found a Klombo, you’ll probably want to feed it a Klomberry – it’s the wild animal’s favorite food, and giving it one will cause it to sneeze out some useful items that will help you in battle. Fortunately, Klomberries are relatively easy to find. Simply search the bushes in the surrounding area and you should come across a few. You can throw them at the Klombo or eat them yourself! Klombos will also eat other food, like meat from an eliminated wolf or boar, but that won’t get you the same rewards that a Klomberry will. What happens if you try to eliminate a Klombo? The simple answer is: It will try to eliminate you back! If you (or another player) shoots or hits a Klombo with your pickaxe, it will turn red and stomp around, causing damage to anything in its path. It will also shoot lava from its blowhole if you try and run away from it, so make sure you keep an eye on what’s happening if you’re making a quick escape from a rampaging Klombo. Right now, we’re not actually sure if you can even eliminate a Klombo, as we damaged one plenty of times and it didn’t seem weakened at all. It also doesn’t display a health bar when you shoot it. That’s everything you need to know about Klombos! For more news, leaks, and guides, visit our Fortnite home page.

Fortnite players fear Kratos skin will “never come back” following shop changes – Dexerto
Fortnite players fear Kratos skin will “never come back” following shop changes Epic GamesFortnite has removed Kratos’ Shop Section from the game, leading players to fear the PlayStation skin will never return. PlayStation’s God of War dropped onto Fortnite Island for a Chapter 2 Season 5 update in December 2020. In addition to Kratos himself, the update fittingly added a Mimir backbling and the Leviathan Axe pickaxe. Those who missed out on the content have patiently awaited its return in the years since then. Many had hoped Kratos would finally return in April 2024 to celebrate the 2018 game’s anniversary. Then Fortnite’s Greek myth season the following month sparked rumors of a skin modeled after PS2-era Kratos. Still, the character has yet to rejoin the Item Shop. Some fans now believe he may never come back since Fortnite-dedicated accounts like HYPEX have pointed out that “Kratos’ Shop Section has been REMOVED.” Needless to say, Fortnite and Kratos fans alike aren’t pleased with the latest news. “They’ve been [teasing] the community since April,” one Twitter/X user wrote in response to the tweet with a crying emoji. YouTuber Pluto V2 shared a more pessimistic outlook in writing, “So bro actually may never come back…?” Several other disappointed players filled the replies with angry Kratos GIFs, including the one that sees him dumping a computer in the trash. It’s worth noting that Kratos’ Shop Section is not the only one Epic has removed from Fortnite. According to ShiinaBR, Shop Sections for Aliens, Billie Eilish, Daredevil, The Witcher, X-Men, and dozens of others were also shelved on September 4. Some fans have expressed the hope that such a purge is due to a potential Item Shop rework, meaning every section may eventually resurface. If so, leaks about future content may represent a motivating faction behind the move. Players in Reddit comments posit it’s a way for developers to “clean house” because shop tabs haven’t been cleared out in a long time. But as of writing, Epic hasn’t shared any concrete details on the matter.

Fortnite Klomberry locations: Where to find Klomberries & how to throw them – Dexerto
Fortnite Klomberry locations: Where to find Klomberries & how to throw them Epic GamesWondering where to find Klomberries in Fortnite so you can feed a Klombos? Here are the best locations to visit to find these new items and complete a weekly challenge. Klombos have only been in Fortnite for a few days, but they’re already the best thing we’ve seen in Chapter 3. These adorable dinosaurs roam the island while sneezing out items and ejecting players from their blowhole – what’s not to love? They’re not just for fun, though, as you’ll also need to find a Klombo and feed it Klomberries to complete one of the latest weekly challenges and earn that sweet XP. Fortunately, we’ve got a complete guide below to help you do just that. Contents Where to find Klomberries in Fortnite Klomberries can be found in special bushes across the Fortnite map. You’ll have a better chance of spotting them near Klombos, so find one of those first and you should be able to get a Klomberry nearby. Alternatively, you can purchase Klomberries from the NPC known as Haven for 25 Gold Bars. You’ll find her near the small lake at the southwest of the map, west of Chonker’s Speedway. We’ve marked two locations where Klombos and Klomberries often spawn on the map below: Simply approach a Klomberry bush and use the interact button to pick one up. It will now be in your inventory, ready to feed to a nearby Klombos (or eat it yourself, if you need the health). If you’re struggling to find a Klomberry, it might be the case that another player has already picked them, or you might just have to search another area and return to the Klombo later. How to throw a Klomberry near a Klombo in Fortnite Once you’ve found a Klomberry, you’ll need to throw it down near a Klombo. To do this, simply treat it like a grenade rather than a consumable – aim as you would with a weapon, then hit the ‘shoot’ button. Read More: What are the rarest Fortnite skins? – Remember that you need to throw the Klomberry while standing within 10 meters of the Klombo. Don’t worry, it won’t bite – unless you make it angry, in which case yes, it will bite (and also shoot lava at you). Now that you’ve completed this challenge, check out our guide to earning XP fast in Fortnite or our weekly challenge roundup for more opportunities to level up your Chapter 3 Season 1 Battle Pass.

Fortnite player reveals easy way to complete Kinetic Ore quest – Dexerto
Fortnite player reveals easy way to complete Kinetic Ore quest Epic GamesA Fortnite player has shown a way to “easily” wrap up the Kinetic Ore quest in the currently running Week 4 challenge. Since the start of Chapter 4 Season 1, Epic Games has rolled out new weekly challenges for players to partake in for a limited time. The latest of such challenges went live a few days ago, with one quest tasking users with traveling a certain distance using the Kinetic Ore element. It’s a reasonably simple executive, yet some may find it a tad bit time-consuming. Fortunately, one Fortnite player has stumbled across an easier way of completing the task. Fortnite’s Kinetic Ore quest made simple with special hammer To travel on Kinetic Ore in Fortnite’s Week 4 challenge, players must first activate the element by striking it several times with their pickaxe. But Reddit user Existing-Complex-932 has an easier solution for firing up the purple ore. According to the Redditor, players need only to use a Shockwave Hammer, as demonstrated in the following video clip: As seen in the gameplay footage, a single blow from the powerful hammer sends the Kinetic Ore on its way. At the very least, the Shockwave Hammer method should speed things along for those who take on Fortnite’s Kinetic Ore quest. Like every other set of objectives in Fortnite’s Week 4 challenges, completing “Travel Distance Using Kinetic Ore” rewards large amounts of XP. (This specific quest is worth 16,000 XP in total.) Many players will want to take advantage of the limited-time opportunity, then. Other Week 4 quests include taming or hunting wildlife, hunting wildlife 10 times in a match, and obtaining 50 health/shields by jumping on Sky Jellies.

Fortnite Kit skin “broken” after Season 7 update – Dexerto
Fortnite Kit skin “broken” after Season 7 update Epic GamesFortnite players have called on developers Epic Games to fix the ‘Kit’ skin, which appears to have broken because of the Season 7 update that launched on June 8. Fortnite Season 7 has been long anticipated by fans of the battle royale and, now it’s here, it’s not difficult to see why. The season is centered around aliens – paving the way for another top-tier popular culture crossover, this time with animated sci-fi show Rick and Morty. There are also plenty of new POIs and locations to explore – like Believer Beach and Corny Complex – while weapons like the revolver and infantry rifle have been vaulted. Naturally, that means some have also been unvaulted, like the hand cannon, bolt-action sniper rifle and more. However, large updates often risk breaking aspects of the game. Major changes to game code can often have unintended impacts elsewhere and, in this instance, the popular Kit skin appears to have fallen victim to the problems. The skin sees, rather incongruously, a small kitten atop a mechanical figure. The robot-like bodice has an exhaust pipe coming out its back, presumably omitting some of the fuel it requires to operate. However, prior to the Season 7 update, the exhaust fumes were an eclectic mix – potentially blue, pink, or a rainbow. Since the update, though, it is puffing tired black smoke out. Naturally, it’s not as appealing to skin owners as it was before. The issues were pinpointed by user BlackMageisBestMag, saying that even when higher levels of the skin are equipped, the default black smoke remains. Epic Games have not, at the time of writing, responded to the issues specifically relating to the Kit skin. The skin was a Season 3 Battle Pass skin and has performed as expected until now, so we can expect to see a fix in a near-future update. For a full run-down of the issues they are looking at, you can check out the dedicated Fortnite Trello Board. Until then, hop in and enjoy Season 7.

Fortnite reportedly hosting The Kid Laroi concert collab this month – Dexerto
Fortnite reportedly hosting The Kid Laroi concert collab this month MTVAccording to a new report, Epic Games is working with The Kid Laroi on a Fortnite concert set to go live this January. Fortnite’s live events have become must-experience moments for millions around the globe. On a select few occasions, such events have even included concerts from some of today’s hottest artists. In 2020, Epic hosted Astronomical, a Travis Scott concert collaboration that attracted over 12 million concurrent users. Ariana Grande took part in a virtual concert of her own, Rift Tour, a little over a year later. And it seems Epic now has another concert lined up for the near future, though the company remains silent on the matter. The Kid Laroi to reportedly headline Fortnite’s next concert Insider Gaming reports that the battle royale’s next virtual concert will star Australian rapper and singer, The Kid Laroi. If true, players can expect the collab to go live in a few weeks on January 24 or January 25. Sources familiar with the alleged collaboration told Insider Gaming the event’s music will remain available in-game for at least one month. However, what exactly the concert will entail is not yet known. Should the report prove accurate, concrete details could surface fairly soon. The Kid Laroi would be a good get for the ever-popular online game. An Australian musician, The Kid Laroi rose to fame following his friendship with Juice Wrld. The 19-year-old performer has since collaborated with Justin Bieber on top-ten Billboard hit, ‘Stay.’ Supposedly, Fortnite x The Kid Laroi isn’t the only big collaboration Epic Games has up its sleeve for this month. A report from late last year claimed a Fortnite and Dead Space crossover was in the works for late January 2023. At the time of writing, though, neither Epic nor Dead Space publisher EA has corroborated the rumor.

Kinetic Ore in Fortnite: Locations and travel distance challenge explained – Dexerto
Kinetic Ore in Fortnite: Locations and travel distance challenge explained Epic GamesOne of Fortnite’s Chapter 4 Season 1 Week 4 Challenges asks players to Travel Distance with Kinetic Ore – this guide details its locations and how it works. Throughout the duration of Chapter 4 Season 1, Fortnite will add new weekly challenges for players to complete. Since they’re limited-time objectives, each challenge rewards large amounts of XP upon completion. Players can tackle the tasks in whichever order they prefer. Notably, the weekly tasks themselves range from dealing damage with specific guns to obtaining health under certain circumstances. One of the Week 4 quests brought Kinetic Ore into the mix, so here’s everything players need to know about it. What is Kinetic Ore? A brand-new element in the world of Fortnite, Kinetic Ore basically functions as a new method of fast travel. The sizable purple rocks work such that users can stand on them, then get escorted to another part of the map as demonstrated in the following video from HarryNintetyFour. Kinetic Ore locations in Fortnite Players can find the element strewn across Shattered Slabs, with the quarry area housing a host of sparkling rocks. Suffice it to say, the ore should be easy to spot. How to travel distance using Kinetic Ore Upon finding one of the large rocks, users should strike it a few times with their pickaxe to activate it. A burst of energy should emerge from the surface within a matter of seconds, permitting travel at long distances after a player climbs on the ore. The challenge features five stages in total, meaning players will have to travel on Kinetic Ore several times before the task is complete.

Where to find keys in Fortnite & how to open Vaults with them – Dexerto
Where to find keys in Fortnite & how to open Vaults with them Epic GamesKeys are a brand new item in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 that can be used to open Low-Security Vaults and High-Security Vaults with plenty of rare weapons inside. If you’ve already jumped into Forntite Chapter 3 Season 4 since it launched on September 18, you might have picked up a key or two while exploring the reworked map and opening Chrome Chests. The game doesn’t do a very good job of explaining what these keys are for, but anyone who’s ever used a Treasure Map in past Fortnite seasons will probably have a pretty good idea of what to do with them. Below, you’ll find all the information you need about Fortnite keys including instructions on how to find and unlock the hidden Vaults around the map. What are keys used for in Fortnite? Keys are a brand new item in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 that can be used to unlock Vaults that are hidden around the map. There are two types of Vaults: Low-Security Vaults and High-Security Vaults. As you can probably guess, these Vaults are home to plenty of rare weapons and Chests to open, so if you’re lucky enough to find a key, you’ll definitely want to go to the effort of tracking one down. Where to find keys in Fortnite The best way to find keys in Fortnite is to open Chrome Chests. These are shiny metallic Chests that have been taken over by liquid Chrome and tend to have high-tier weapons and items inside them. As with any rare item, the best plan is to head towards a major POI or landmark with lots of Chests lying around. This way you’ll have plenty of chances to open Chests and potentially find a key or two. You can potentially find keys as floor loot or in regular Chests, but this is a much rarer occurrence. How to unlock Vaults with keys in Fortnite Once you’ve found a key, open the Fortnite map and look for a nearby white padlock symbol. A padlock with one keyhole requires one key, while a padlock with two keyholes requires two keys to open. Mark one of these padlock symbols on your map and head toward its location. Be aware Vaults are often very well-hidden. For example, we found one that was underground beneath loads of bushes and rocks. When you arrive at the Vault door, you simply need to interact with it and as long as you have enough keys you’ll be able to enter. Vaults have quite a few Chests inside, so it’s a great way to start a match. That’s everything you need to know about Fortnite keys and Vaults! Make sure you check out our Fortnite page for more news and guides.

Fortnite just unvaulted three fan-favorite weapons – Dexerto
Fortnite just unvaulted three fan-favorite weapons A small content update was released for Fortnite on May 10 adding three fan-favorite weapons to the cartoon battle royale. Fortnite relies on its weekly content updates to keep the game fun and interesting. These updates can range in size and content with some adding new POIs or story events, while others simply add a gun or two into the mix. Regardless, the meta and gameplay are constantly shifting, and each update gives players something new to experience. And with the massive roster of weapons Fortnite has, it’s exciting to see which vaulted weapons are added back to the loot pool. On May 10, Epic Games released a hotfix update that shockingly added three fan-favorite weapons to Season 2. While it’s one of the smallest updates of the season, some players are calling it the best. Three weapons unvaulted in Fortnite As reported by HYPEX, early on May 10 Epic Games unvaulted the Airstrike Grenade, Hunting Rifle, and Flint Knock pistol. These are three of the Fortnite community’s favorite weapons, and the replies to the tweet prove it. One user commented: “Why is a content update unironically the best update of the season.” Many users followed suit expressing their excitement for one or all of the weapons. The Hunting Rifle has been a favored weapon since it was first introduced in Chapter 1. It’s long-range, clip size, and accuracy makes it a favorite for both competitive players and trick shooters. The Flint Knock is a dual-purpose weapon with a lot of utility. It deals an immense amount of damage up close and knocks the shooter back allowing for a quick getaway. The Airstrike Grenade, Hunting Rifle & Flint Knock have been unvaulted! pic.twitter.com/SYWnvGFNEZ — HYPEX (@HYPEX) May 10, 2022 Lastly, the Airstrike Grenade was a menace when first introduced in Chapter 1 Season 9. It hasn’t appeared in Fortnite since then, but fans are very exciting to rain explosives down on their opponents. Fortnite Junk Rift item disabled across all game modes – Dexerto
Fortnite Junk Rift item disabled across all game modes Epic GamesEpic Games announced on the official Fortnite Twitter account that it would be removing the Junk Rift item from all modes temporarily on August 25. The junk rift item was first released in patch v10.10, and like the B.R.U.T.E Mech, was quickly derided by competitive players who argued that it fundamentally compromised the game. The way the item works is that it is thrown and a rift opens up over your enemy, dropping a random object on them. On August 25, Epic announced that it would be disabling the item across all games modes because of an issue. Junk Rift is temporarily disabled Seemingly out of the blue, the official Fortnite Twitter account updated players and said it would be removing the Junk Rift item from all modes due to an “issue” in game. Fortnite leak hints at overgrown biome for Chapter 4 Season 3 – Dexerto
Fortnite leak hints at overgrown biome for Chapter 4 Season 3 Epic GamesA recent leak suggests a jungle biome will enter the mix whenever Epic Games rolls out Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3. Fortnite’s next season update is expected to arrive in June, though Epic has yet to formally announce as much. Regardless, leaks and rumors about Chapter 4 Season 3 crop up every so often. One leak, in particular, suggests the new Fortnite season may feature a desert theme. Such speculation comes courtesy of a dataminer who found files featuring palm tree textures and the like. Now yet another piece of datamined information has supposedly offered a hint at what may await those who dive into Season 3’s upcoming arrival. Latest Fortnite leak seems to tease a jungle biome for Season 3 As spotted by Fortnite-dedicated account Shiina, leaker LeakySussed has shared a screenshot of a datamined asset file that Epic Games added today, May 2. The file in question includes text that reads as follows: “MF_AsteriaCustomBiomes_Jungle.” Shiina notes that this could point to a jungle biome entering the popular battle royale once Chapter 4 Season 3 goes live in the summer. And, apparently, that’s not all. According to leakers Wenso and Loolo_WRLD, the development team is also producing new Armored Vehicles for Season 3. The two allege that NPCs codenamed “ArmoredCarGoons” will sit at the wheel of such vehicles. Epic Games hasn’t confirmed anything about Fortnite’s supposed jungle biome or Armored Cars. However, should the latter prove accurate, they’ll mark the first armored vehicles to hit the island since the Armored Battle Bus that was introduced in Chapter 3. Chapter 4 Season 3 won’t likely become available until early June, but a new update has given players plenty to fuss over. All-new Star Wars content is currently live in Fortnite, featuring prequel skins for Darth Maul, Anakin, Padme, and more.

Fortnite players lash out at “annoying” jungle trees – Dexerto
Fortnite players lash out at “annoying” jungle trees Epic GamesFortnite players are lashing out at trees in the jungle biome because accidentally landing on them and trying to get down is “annoying.” The new jungle biome hit Fortnite Island for the Chapter 4 Season 3 Wilds update in June. Of course, the dense and leafy environment shook up things quite a bit, adding ancient secrets, traversal mechanics like vine grinding, and new wildlife. Plus, the thick tree canopies introduced another level of verticality, a win-win for those who prefer taking the high ground. But navigating the treetops in Fortnite does have its disadvantages; for one, building mechanics are completely off-limits. Some players do their best to avoid the canopies for other reasons, though. Fortnite players call jungle trees “annoying” Reddit user Tandril91 didn’t hold back in a recent post when highlighting the many frustrations of navigating the jungle biome’s treetops. “I can’t stand [it] when I accidentally land on ‘jungle trees.’ It’s so damn annoying trying to find a way down that doesn’t involve plummeting a hundred feet to my death,” the player wrote. They went on to note that sometimes they’ll try landing in a nearby water source, only to find out the hard way that it wasn’t deep enough. Evidently, Tandril91 isn’t the only one with a bone to pick with Fortnite‘s traversable jungle trees. “I know it makes me very hesitant using the jump flowers. Not sure if I’m alone here, but I’ve noticed not many are using them as a sniper post,” one player said in agreement with the original post. Someone else chimed in with, “I love the jungle but hate the trees. I’ve been telling myself I need to go up there to get the feel for them, but every time I do it just sucks.” Meanwhile, another user offered a much more terse response: “F**k the jungle.” Not everyone thinks the trees are a bad omen, though. In fact, a few people argued that it comes down to a “skill issue,” especially since the trees feature ascenders, bounce flowers, or grind vines that should make coming and going relatively simple. As is the case with many Fortnite features, it seems the community’s divided about what to think of the tree traversal mechanics.

Fortnite June 7 hotfix: Nitro Fists nerfs, Harbinger SMG buffs, & more – Dexerto
Fortnite June 7 hotfix: Nitro Fists nerfs, Harbinger SMG buffs, & more Epic GamesFind out all the new balance changes that have just dropped in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, including nerfed Nitro Fists, buffed Tactical AR, and more. Fortnite occasionally rolls out balance changes to keep things fresh in the Battle Royale. In Chapter 5, Season 3 alone, Nitro Cars — which dominated early this season — have already received quite a few nerfs to give other players a chance to deal with them. With Boogie Bombs being unvaulted, some players have found creative ways to deal with enemies. One example is permanently kicking a player out of their car using the bomb. Now, new changes have dropped, as shared via a post on X, and here’s everything you need to know about Fortnite’s June 7 patch notes. Fortnite June 7 patch notes: All changes in Chapter 5, Season 3 One of the notable changes here is the reduction to Nitro Fists’ punch and uppercut damage, the all-new item that a portion of players have been using to deal with cars aside from Boogie Bombs. Grenade Launcher and Machine Gun Turrets’ damage have also been reduced. You can find the full patch notes and changes below: Get even splashier with increased Nitro Splash stack size (the Nitro effect also gives infinite stamina!) – Tactical Assault Rifle damage has been increased. – Harbinger SMG reloads faster and has an increased fire rate. Brrt brrt! – Reduced Nitro Fists’ punch and uppercut damage to structures and air punch damage to both structures and players. – Slightly reduced Grenade Launcher Turret damage to players. – Slightly reduced Machine Gun Turret’s damage and fire rate. – Fixed a bug causing higher Boom Bolt damage to player-built structures than intended. – With buffs to Tactical Assault Rifle and Harbringer SMG, these will likely be seen more often in the Battle Royale, especially when paired with some of the best weapon mods. On the other hand, cars may still be viable, but with items that can counter them now, players will have to be a lot more careful when using them.

Fortnite July 30 map changes: Sweaty Sands return, Camp Cod, more – Dexerto
Fortnite July 30 map changes: Sweaty Sands return, Camp Cod, more Epic GamesThe Fortnite map has almost returned to normal. After the map changes on July 30, there’s only one more update left before all the flooding is gone. Sweaty Sands has made its return, Camp Cod is less flooded, and more roads are appearing. The water levels in Fortnite are changing again. The map is slowly draining after the Season 3 event, with the luscious green islands peeking their heads up for players to drop on. As of the July 30 update, most players’ favorite drop spots from previous seasons have returned. There’s less water rotations and more land rotations to worry about as the water heads back out to sea. This map update also marks the last one before the big, final change. Players aren’t just expecting all the water to go away, but also a new Atlantis-themed POI to sprout up on the map. Sweaty Sands returns in full, Camp Cod drained heavily The Sweaty Sands you know and love is finally back in fall. While it was looking a little bit decrepit over the last few updates, the water has finally eased off at the inlet for the full POI to make an appearance. If you used to drop at the beach there, you should be able to return to your looting spot as of July 30. On the minimap it looks exactly the same as it did in Season 2, but some of the chests may have moved. Keep your eyes peeled. On the complete opposite side of the map, Camp Cod is also almost back to normal. Large patches of water and swampland have been removed, making way for the island that was there once before. 🏝️Fortnite Map Update | Water Level Lowers🏝️ Quick Notes: – Map changes will go live in 2 Hours [3 AM ET] – 1 Water Level LeftMain Changes – Sweaty Sands fully returns – Roads at Slurpy appear – Camp Cod becomes less flooded pic.twitter.com/tWd51gk6ao— iFireMonkey (@iFireMonkey) July 30, 2020 More roads are also appearing near Slurpy Swamp, connecting to Misty Meadows via Rickety Rig. There should also be more routes through the densely-populated trees, but it’s unclear just by looking at the minimap. Atlantis POI release date set for August 1: dataminers Dataminers have also confirmed when to expect the final map update for Season 3 — and that’s on August 1 at 7am GMT. The water will have totally receded by then, and the new Atlantis POI will activate. The final Minimap (WL0), which will also contain the Atlantis POI will activate in just TWO days! August 1st, 3am EST. pic.twitter.com/MHojZJ5ZyE — VastBlast (@VastBlast) July 30, 2020 Aquaman’s home will be unearthed for all to drop into. It’ll more than likely be laid out similarly to Deadpool’s Yacht in Season 2, with an Atlantis boss to kill every game for some decent loot. Keep your eyes peeled on Saturday for the changes.

Fortnite June 18 update patch notes: Combat Assault Rifle unvaulted, Tow Hook Cannon nerf, more – Dexerto
Fortnite June 18 update patch notes: Combat Assault Rifle unvaulted, Tow Hook Cannon nerf, more Epic GamesFortnite’s June 18 hotfix gives a spawn rate pass to the Tow Hook Cannon and vaults the Warforged Assault Rifle for the Combat Assault Rifle to spice up the loot pool a bit. Between major updates, like 30.10, Epic Games usually deploys smaller hotfixes to address in-game issues such as buffs or nerfs. June 7’s hotfix did just that, as it nerfed the Nitro Fists while bringing up the Harbinger SMG’s reload speed. Another hotfix has deployed, and, while it’s a small one, it does switch up the weapon pool in some meaningful ways. The Warforged Assault Rifle has been vaulted in favor of the Combat Assault Rifle. Meanwhile, the Tow Hook Cannon’s spawn rate has seen some tweaking. Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 June 18 update patch notes The biggest change with the June 18 hotfix update is the Combat Assault rifle returning to the loot pool, while the Warforged Assault Rifle has been vaulted. The returning addition has a high rate of fire and a strong recoil pattern, perfect for players who like to get in close. Like other weapons, the Combat Assault Rifle can be found in chests, loot floor pools, and various locations around the map. There’s also a Mythic Variant: The Machinist’s Combat Assault Rifle. On the other hand, the Tow Hook Cannon‘s spawn rates have seen some adjustments. Here are the full details of the changes: Floor Loot: Decreased from 0.2 to 0.15 – Chests: Reduced from 0.25 to 0.2 – Supply drops: Decreased from 0.3 to 0.25 – Supply Drones: Reduced from 0.3 to 0.25 – With that, you’re caught up on Fortnite’s hotfix. Be sure to keep up to date with Chapter 5 Season 3-related content, such as the best Assault Rifle mods, all the weekly quests, or all the details on this season’s Battle Pass.

Fortnite July 27 map changes: Dirty Docks return, Slurp Factory & more – Dexerto
Fortnite July 27 map changes: Dirty Docks return, Slurp Factory & more Epic Games[jwplayer Puy4UiEa]Dirty Docks has returned to normal on the Fortnite map after the water level has, once again, been knocked down a notch. Here’s everything you need to know about this set of map changes. After Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 3 opened up with a water-filled map, many of the fan-favorite spots were taken away. Players had to reconsider their landing locations and rotations while water was at it highest point. Over the course of the season, however, Epic Games have been decreasing the water level ever so slightly. In recent weeks, the water has been drained quite significantly, with spots like Risky Reels and Craggy Cliffs returning to their normal forms. On July 27, the water level dropped yet again, and a few other spots are now viable to hit up. Fortnite Map Changes – July 27 The main change following the water level update comes over at Dirty Docks. The popular landing spot had been rising from the water for a few weeks, but now, is it back to normal. You can head over there and plunder metal to your heart’s content. On the other side of the map, Slurp Factory is almost at its normal form. It’s still got a bit of water lying around but if you’re after some free Slurp barrels, you can get it over there. Sadly, the swamp where you could get free shields just by standing in certain parts is still affected by the water. You can’t go and sit under the exit pipe and rack up all the free shield you want. Elsewhere, the Ancient Astronaut’s spaceship behind Craggy Cliffs in almost at surface level. It’s now much more visible underwater, but you can’t do anything with it. The Shark has also changed quite a bit, but if you’re expecting plenty of looting there, don’t get excited. Like The Yacht, it’s very beaten up and lots of the chests and materials are missing.

Fortnite Jujutsu Kaisen Mythics: How to get Hollow Purple or Straw Doll Technique – Dexerto
Fortnite Jujutsu Kaisen Mythics: How to get Hollow Purple or Straw Doll Technique Epic GamesFortnite patch 25.30 added Yuji, Megumi, Nobara, and Satoru skins to the game, thanks to a crossover with the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series. The crossover also introduced Hollow Purple and Straw Doll Technique to the game as new mythic items. Here’s how you can get them easily in Fortnite. Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 received a brand-new 25.30 content update on August 8, 2023, which introduced the popular anime Jujutsu Kaisen to the island. The update adds Yuji, Megumi, Nobara, and Satoru to the game as Item Shop skins and as free cosmetic rewards. The crossover introduces a new Break The Curse! event that includes a mini-battle pass and quests to complete, similar to the Find The Force questline in which players can earn free cosmetic rewards. You can, however, use two new, overpowered mythic items to complete these objectives more quickly. The newly added Hollow Purple and Straw Doll Techniques are mythic items that are readily available across the island and inflict significant damage to enemies when used on them. If you’re pondering how to acquire one in the game, we have a helpful guide for you right here. How to get Hollow Purple and Straw Doll Technique mythic items in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Hollow Purple and Straw Doll Technique (inspired by the popular anime Jujutsu Kaisen) are two mythic weapons that can be readily found as floor loot and claimed from Cursed Loot Llamas roaming the island in Fortnite Battle Royale. The items are only available in mythic rarity and can discharge up to three blast projectiles before requiring a cooldown. The Hollow Purple fires a massive power ball at the enemy, destroying nearby structures and inflicting damage over time. In contrast, the Straw Doll Technique launches explosive nails at foes with the precision of a marksman rifle. On impact, the nails deliver blast damage to all nearby enemies and structures. Locating a Cursed Loot Llama would be a better way to acquire mythic items, given that you can readily find them randomly on the island. These llamas spawn at random across the island; when you see one on your mini-map or in front of you, approach it and deal damage as it tries to flee until it is defeated and breaks open, revealing mythic loot. While some players are quite critical of the item’s efficacy against long-range enemies, it can be quite lethal in a Builds match, easily destroying enemy structures and inflicting significant damage on them. So there you have it – that’s all you need to know about how to get Hollow Purple and Straw Doll Technique mythic items in Fortnite. Fortnite Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration is coming according to leaks MAPPAJujutsu Kaisen, one of the biggest anime and manga series in the world, is getting a Fortnite collaboration event according to leaks. Jujutsu Kaisen‘s manga and anime adaptation have both taken the world by storm as one of the most popular Shounen series. Following up the popularity of the “Big 3” shows in Bleach, One Piece, and Naruto is a tall order. However, Jujutsu Kaisen has managed to stand out from the rest due to its diverse cast of characters, incredible action scenes, theming that’s a bit darker than your average Shounen, and a story that’s kept manga readers and anime viewers alike glued to the series for years. With Season 2 airing, the incredibly popular Shounen series is picking up steam. And, according to leaks, Jujutsu Kaisen is coming to Fortnite in the near future. Jujutsu Kaisen is coming to Fortnite For those unaware, Jujutsu Kaisen is a series all about Sorcerers harnessing the power of Curses to fight off demons and otherworldly threats. We’ll keep you updated as more information comes out about this massive collaboration.

Fortnite players want this weapon to return as “perfect” counter to “OP” jetpacks – Dexerto
Fortnite players want this weapon to return as “perfect” counter to “OP” jetpacks Epic GamesFortnite players think one early Chapter 5 weapon should return as the “perfect” counter to overpowered jetpacks in Season 4. Chapter 5 Season 4 dropped an array of Marvel-themed items on the Island, one of which included War Machine’s Hover Jets. Once equipped, the jetpack lets players zip through the air at high speeds and change the tide of battle. However, Fortnite players slammed the item for feeling overpowered. Epic Games responded by issuing nerfs that greatly impacted the jetpack’s fuel consumption, reduced its speed, and lowered the spawn rate. Some users still think the item needs more fine-tuning, though. As such, one person presented the idea of Epic potentially bringing back the Chains of Hades from Chapter 5 Season 2. A Redditor has argued that the Season 2 Chains would act as the “ideal jetpack counter,” given how effective they were against the high-flying Wings of Icarus Mythic. Others think Epic should take the Chains one step further, though. Instead of bringing the tool back with its Greek Myth theme, it could be overhauled with a Ghost Rider-inspired redesign to match the ongoing Marvel crossover. The developers could even “introduce it as Ghost Rider mythic chains or Omega Red ‘tentacle’ thing,” one fan proposed in the thread. For now, though, there’s nothing to suggest that the Chains of Hades or Ghost Rider content will become available in Fortnite anytime soon. Players will just have to find other ways to counter Fortnite’s jetpack problem. Interestingly enough, users have come up with one “evil” trick that addresses War Machine’s Hover Jets – finding and hiding them from other players. If and when Epic will deploy more solutions presently remains unknown, but the jetpack won’t be around forever. Developers will likely vault the Mythic when Chapter 5 Season 4 ends on November 2.

Fortnite community blasts Season 4 mobility following latest jetpack nerfs – Dexerto
Fortnite community blasts Season 4 mobility following latest jetpack nerfs Epic GamesEpic Games has issued another nerf for Fortnite’s War Machine Hover Jetpack, which has some players saying this spells doom for Season 4. Fortnite’s new Marvel-themed season launched in early August with a host of game-changing items, including Captain America’s Shield. The War Machine-inspired Hover Jetpack has especially been favored among fans, given that it adds more speed and verticality to mobility. As such, players were not happy when an August 20 patch nerfed the Jetpack’s spawn chances. To the community’s chagrin, another nerf went live a couple of days later, specifically targeting the fuel, speed, and duration of the boosting mechanic. Epic issued yet another nerf on August 26, according to leaker and Fortnite-dedicated account HYPEX. The latest changes reduce the initial boost of the Jetpack by 60%. Because of the nerf, Fortnite players should expect to “slow down almost instantly when [they] stop using the jetpack.” ShiinaBR also reports that Epic has removed the hover mechanic in its entirety from the Tournaments Playlist. Players have already voiced their frustration with the latest round of nerfs. Beneath the HYPEX post, one player joked, “Damn, they nerf[ed] it to a back bling.” Another person lamented that these changes will make the season “boring.” “People aren’t even gonna want to keep using them at this point,” added another unhappy player. Similar thoughts have been shared in the Fortnite subreddit, too, with one post stating the “season might be cooked…” Elsewhere in the thread, a different user said the jetpack’s dash mechanic was its best feature, because “mobility right now already feels like wading through a tar pit compared to last season. Why would they make it worse?” Thus far, Fortnite Chapter 5 has introduced several movement-based tools like Season 2’s Airbending item and Season 3’s nitro-fueled vehicles. Nerfs to Season 4’s Jetpack suggest Epic may be pumping the brakes on the mobility players have become accustomed to.

Fortnite Jerky event coming soon? Everything we know – Dexerto
Fortnite Jerky event coming soon? Everything we know Epic GamesFortnite Chapter 2’s next major in-game event might have been leaked ahead of schedule and its provisional name might be the weirdest of all time – Jerky. Epic Games won’t have been too happy to see #RipFortnite trending worldwide on April 12, with players claiming that the game has become stale in recent times. However, one thing is for sure – events usually have players coming back in droves. Following the rollout of the v12.40 update on April 15, data miners were hard at work looking for different skins, cosmetics and other items, although Lucas7yoshi might well have stumbled upon a hint for something big coming soon. When is Fortnite’s Jerky event starting? The next in-game event has not yet been confirmed by Epic Games, leaving the door wide open for when the next one will take place. Recently, Epic have been working on some crossover content with Marvel, which has seen a Deadpool themed Yacht arrive, not to mention a whole host of cosmetics as well. Fans will be hoping for more of that should Jerky materialize. Fortnite Jerky event leaks As ever with leaked material, it’s best to take it with a pinch of salt until we see their contents arrive in-game, although Lucas7yoshi has proven to be one of the most reliable around when it comes to Fortnite. On April 15, the data miner revealed everything they know so far, but it’s admittedly light on information. They posted: An event currently just called “Jerky” is in the works, relevant to previous tweet. The playlist used for The End, Marshmello, etc was modfied with the name Jerky.” On top of that, they also revealed a description, which stated: “There’s no score before the event. Hang out and have fun before the event starts.” MASSIVE: An event currently just called “Jerky” is in the works, relavant to previous tweet The playlist used for, the end, marshmello, etc was modified with the name “Jerky” “There’s no goal score before the event. Hang out and have fun before the event starts.” — Lucas7yoshi // leeaks (@Lucas7yoshi) April 15, 2020 That’s not all, either. The leaker also posted what appears to be code that will eventually shake the sky in Fortnite. A file called ‘BP_SkyJerk’ was added to the events folder, which could be another hint for what’s to come. What could the event include? With previous event files having also changed to “Jerky”, the likelihood of that being an official event name is unlikely. However, it does put – whatever this might be – in the same standing. Moving onto possible theories for what the event could include, there are a few options. Fortnite’s been dropping a series of hints towards a Doomsday event of some kind, with multiple clues having been found across the map so far. These include hatches, changes to in-game menus, and more. Aside from that, there’s also a potentially more fitting possibility in that this could finally be the Travis Scott event, or concert, players have been expecting to see land in-game for some time. Previously, leaked images were revealed for a potential Travis Scott skin, sparking rumors that the American rapper could follow in the footsteps of Marshmello by hosting a concert at one of Fortnite’s locations. Last time it was Pleasant Park, which still features on the island, despite all of the changes in Chapter 2. The leaked Travis skin was revealed by HYPEX, another data miner. This is MOST LIKELY the leaked Travis Scott skin, i’m still asking the source about where he found it.. pic.twitter.com/CZzS6USCdb — HYPEX (@HYPEX) March 17, 2020 While both of these suggestions are obvious possibilities for the Jerky event, nobody really knows what Epic Games has in store for us in the coming weeks. Until plans are made public, fans will have to sit back, wait around a little longer, and hope it’s something exciting.

Fortnite January 13 update patch notes: Stinger SMG nerf, Auto Shotgun buff – Dexerto
Fortnite January 13 update patch notes: Stinger SMG nerf, Auto Shotgun buff Epic GamesA Fortnite January 13 update has landed with some balance changes to popular weapons like the MK-Seven Assault Rifle and the Auto Shotgun outlined in the patch notes. Ever since the Fortnite island got turned upside down for Chapter 3, Epic Games have been fine-tuning its new weapons and items that have revamped the title for many players. At the turn of the new era, Epic introduced game-changing items like Spider-Man’s Web Slingers and The Foundation’s MK-Seven rifle to shake up the battle royale. As the season rolls on, the devs are rolling back the effectiveness of some weapons that have proven to be a bit too strong in the loot pool. Stinger nerfed The damage to the Stinger SMG has been decreased with the popular weapon copping a nerf so soon after the Season 3 update. This will marginally reduce its damage from 18/19/20/21/22 to 16/17/18/19/20 across its common, uncommon, rare, epic, and legendary rarities, respectively. The gun’s ability to shred builds remains intact, even at range. While this is a slight nerf to keep the SMG in check, it should still be a popular choice to include in players’ loadouts. We’ve made several balance changes to the following items. ✅ Decreased Stinger SMG damage ✅ Slightly decreased MK-Seven Assault Rifle damage ✅ Increased Auto Shotgun reload speedWe’ll continue to evaluate this as the season evolves, and appreciate your continued feedback! pic.twitter.com/fgEM4Gl72l — Fortnite Status (@FortniteStatus) January 13, 2022 Auto Shotgun reload buff Since introducing the Auto Shotgun at the start of the season, the devs have tinkered with it a bit to find a happy balance in its stats. This time around decreased the tie it takes to reload it from 8.8s/8.4s/8s/7.6s/7.2s to a market improvement with 6.2s/6s/5.7s/5.4s/5.1s across rarities. The change comes after a previous patch made it slightly quicker to pull out the Auto Shotgun by 0.2 seconds. The Auto Shotgun balances a quick spray of high-damage pellets with the time it takes to reload it. Now that Epic dialed back the reload time, this could entice players to try out the weapon for late-game builds when the action starts to get faster. Take a look below to see the rest of the Fortnite January 13 update patch notes that are already live in the game. Fortnite January 13 update patch notes Decreased Stinger SMG damage – Slightly decreased MK-Seven Assault Rifle damage – Increased Auto Shotgun reload speed –

Fortnite Isle of Doom spawn rate change gives players everything they wanted & more – Dexerto
Fortnite Isle of Doom spawn rate change gives players everything they wanted & more Epic GamesEpic Games has listened to fans and decided to increase the Isle of Doom’s spawn rate higher than ever before. And there’s more good news ahead, as the spawn rate will only continue to climb. Fortnite initially released Doom’s Island with the 31.10 update which allowed players to become Doom’s Chosen and become Doom himself. Unfortunately, it only had a 5% chance to spawn, making players complain about it being too hard to get. While Epic did end up buffing the Ultra Doom mythic to make it have a 12% chance to appear, this only lasted a few days, and after the weekend ended it went back to 5%. Rest assured, you will get many more chances to find the Isle of Doom, as Epic Games just announced that the Isle of Doom now has a 20% spawn rate. Not only that, but this number would increase each day incrementally up until the release of version 31.20 next week. We’re not yet sure how much the spawn rate will increase each day, but players have until September 17, 2024 to claim this mythic. The response from fans online has been quite positive, as many players have still yet to find this island for themselves. “W FORTNITE, THANK YOU FOR LISTENING TO US,” said one response. “we LOVE it when you guys are actively listening /communicating to us and actually care abt our opinions,” another fan wrote, saying they were speaking on behalf of the Fortnite community. Others hoped that this boost wouldn’t end by next week: “Let’s keep this for a while,” a commenter pleaded and explained how they didn’t want the spawn rate to decrease. It remains to be seen if Epic decides to hold on to, at the very least, a 20% spawn rate as the future base level. Speaking of big adjustments, the developers also made critical changes to mythics like Shuri’s Claws and War Machine’s Hover Jet.

Fortnite x IT Chapter Two? New leaks suggest it could happen – Dexerto
Fortnite x IT Chapter Two? New leaks suggest it could happen Epic Games / New Line CinemaFortnite partnering with brands is nothing new and it looks like we might already know what they have in store next according to two new leaks that point towards IT Chapter Two. Thanks to the worldwide phenomenon that is Fortnite, we’ve seen crossovers with brands like the Avengers, John Wick, NFL, Borderlands 3, and many others. Although nothing has officially been announced yet, it appears like the new brand that will be partnering with Fortnite is IT Chapter Two in order to publicize the upcoming film. A leaked sound file that was discovered in v10.20 files reveals what sounds distinctly like Pennywise’s laugh, which would make a lot of sense considering the film releases September 4 and could use a nice boost form Fortnite. Read More: Top 5 most controversial updates in Fortnite – This sound file was first discovered by popular Fortnite leaker Hypex who posted the sound in a tweet. These “”illinois”” quest sound files were added this update.. Fortnite X IT Chapter 2 Collab with challenges ? pic.twitter.com/yV2hiEIwbX— HYPEX – Fortnite Leaks & News (@HYPEX) August 27, 2019 If that’s not enough for you, there’s even more evidence that points to this being a crossover. The movie poster features two balloons being held by Pennywise, which signifies him being a clown but also the fact this is the second chapter of the series. Another leaked asset shows Fortnite has something called a “Creepy Balloon” in the files which seems to solidify the idea of a crossover. This was first noticed by FortTory. More info regarding a possible Fortnite X IT. A creepy Balloon got added into the files… pic.twitter.com/ADPQqzUcMm — FortTory – Fortnite Leaks & News (@FortTory) August 27, 2019 Although there is a lot of evidence pointing to this, none of it should be taken as an absolute fact until we get official word of Epic Games. With that said, these two Fortnite leakers have a very strong track record and we have no reason to doubt them yet. For those doubting this because it’s a horror film and rated R, there is actually a precedent for that. John Wick: Chapter 3 was also rated R but had a crossover event so it doesn’t look like Fortnite is just limited to working with PG-13 or lower brands.

Fortnite buffs Isle of Doom spawn rate in matches – but there’s a catch – Dexerto
Fortnite buffs Isle of Doom spawn rate in matches – but there’s a catch Epic GamesAmid player backlash, Fortnite has increased the spawn rate for the Isle of Doom, which Epic Games added in Chapter 5 Season 4. But there’s a catch. The launch of Update 31.10 unleashed Doom’s Chosen Mythic powers, though players can only obtain such power by storming the Isle of Doom POI. Notably, the Ultra Mythic abilities grant the wielder 500 health and 500 shield. They also let loose overpowered attacks whose arcane strength is difficult to fend off. Even a boss character’s health will melt when facing Doom’s Ultra Mythic. OP powers aside, players were most displeased upon learning that the Isle of Doom only has a 5 percent chance to spawn. As such, even the most dedicated Fortnite players have navigated dozens of matches without ever seeing the POI floating along. But these frustrations are changing, as Epic Games has confirmed that the Isle of Doom’s spawn rate will increase from 5 percent to 12 percent. However, there’s a catch – this buff will only last for the weekend starting Friday, September 7. For just a few days, Fortnite players have a higher chance of the Isle of Doom and securing the much-coveted Victory von Doom. Doctor Doom returned to Fortnite Island for Chapter 5 Season 4, where he serves as the main villain of an all-new Marvel storyline. Most notably, Doom wants the power of Pandora’s Box all to himself and has already brought himself a few steps closer to achieving such ends. What he has planned remains a mystery. There’s plenty of time for players to learn more, though, given that Season 4 will not end until November 2. Who knows what state Fortnite Island will be left in when Doom starts setting his plans into motion? Between now and then, Battle Pass owners can complete a series of Doom-specific quests to unlock the supervillains’ two armor skins, blade pickaxes, and more.

Fortnite is steadily adding more crossovers than original content – Dexerto
Fortnite is steadily adding more crossovers than original content Fortnite rightfully owns the title of the undisputed king of crossovers in video games, and a look at the numbers shows the battle royale is adding more crossovers than original content. Way back in 2018, when Fortnite was climbing the ranks at breakneck speed, the battle royale had its first-ever crossover. The Infinity Gauntlet was added to promote Avengers: Infinity War, allowing players to turn into Thanos as a part of a limited-time mode. However, the first Marvel cosmetics wouldn’t make their way into the game until four seasons later with the arrival of Star-Lord and the original Black Widow skins. In fact, the first crossover cosmetics weren’t introduced until Chapter 1 Season 6 (NFL skins) followed by Marshmello in Season 7. In the early days, crossovers were few and far between, but now they’re expected for every major movie, video game, and comic release. When looking at the numbers, it’s clear that Fortnite is steadily adding more crossover content than original cosmetics. Old Fortnite vs New Fortnite When looking at Fortnite Chapter 1 compared to Chapters 2 & 3, the emphasis on crossovers is night and day. For reference, during the first 10 seasons, there were only 11 crossover “events” with some having a very minor impact on the game. But in Chapter 2 Season 5 alone there were 15 different collaborations. This outnumbered the entirety of Chapter 1’s crossovers in just a single season. Even at the beginning of Chapter 2, the emphasis on crossover content was clear with a massive Star Wars event followed by Ninja’s Icon Series debut and the Birds of Prey cosmetics jam-packed into a single season. That would only be the start of the collab takeover. Crossover content would grow from 8% of new cosmetics added in Chapter 2 Season 1 to a staggering 52% in Chapter 3 Season 1. Fortnite’s new cosmetics are mostly collabs Looking at the numbers provided by Fortnite News, there have been 2,048 cosmetic items added since the start of Chapter 2. Of which, 522 of these items would be skins, pickaxes, Back Blings, gliders, and more derived from collaborations. This shows that roughly 25% of all of Fortnite’s cosmetic items are crossovers which seems like a healthy balance at first. But looking at the growing percentage of collab content from season to season paints a different picture. In Chapter 2 Seasons 1-3, less than 10% of all cosmetics were crossover inspired. But this quickly jumps up to 28% in Season 4 (the entirely Marvel-themed season) and steadily increases for the next 6 seasons. In Chapter 2 Season 8 and Chapter 3 Seasons 1 & 2, an estimated 49% of all cosmetics added were crossover content. And in Chapter 3 Season 1, that number reached 52 percent marking the first season in which more licensed content was added to Fortnite than original content. Is there really that much Marvel? Players often complain that Marvel gets too much attention in Fortnite, but is that really the case? Again, we can turn to the numbers to find out. According to Fortnite Wiki’s Marvel Series page, there are 312 Marvel cosmetics in Fortnite. Of the 522 crossover cosmetics in Fortnite, a whopping 60% of them are designated to the Avengers, three different Spider-Men, and miscellaneous supers from the MU. It’s safe to say Marvel does have a massive presence in Fortnite’s cosmetic catalog. And the same can be said for crossover content in general. If Fortnite continues with its steady increase in collaboration percentages per season, we might just see crossovers outweigh the game’s original content altogether.

Fortnite is teaming up with the NFL to release team uniforms as in-game skins – Dexerto
Fortnite is teaming up with the NFL to release team uniforms as in-game skins Fans of American Football and popular battle royale game Fortnite will soon be able to combine their love for the two thanks to a new partnership between Epic Games and the National Football League. Announced on Monday, November 5, the deal will see special skins come to Fortnite for all 32 teams that play in the NFL, with fans able to choose which team they would like to represent. The skins will be available from 7pm ET (4pm PT, 12am GMT) on Friday, November 9, although there is no official announcement as to how much these items will cost, or how long fans will be able to buy these skins for. There will be three styles of the outfit available, two male and one female, with fans only required to purchase the skin, and not every team’s uniform individually. Each skin comes with all 32 NFL teams full uniform, including jersey, pants and helmet, along with a special edition Fortnite team uniform. Players will also be able to choose the number on their uniforms, with every number between zero and 99 available to be selected. UPDATE The NFL has also announced that uniforms will not be the only items coming to Fortnite. More details HERE. While this isn’t the first time that Fortnite has introduced cosmetic items relating to sports events into the game, it is the first time they have officially partnered with a league or organization to bring branded items into the game. During the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Epic Games released a series of soccer cosmetics, which allowed players to choose the kit of the team they were supporting at the tournament. Epic Games have also partnered in the past with Marvel Studios, adding a special gamemode featuring the villainous Thanos to coincide with the release of Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War.

Fortnite is locking “basic” rewards behind high levels but players aren’t worried – Dexerto
Fortnite is locking “basic” rewards behind high levels but players aren’t worried FortniteFortnite players are divided on whether the Fortnite Battle Pass has become too much of a grind for its “basic” accessories. With the addition of Fortnite Festival, Rocket Racing, and LEGO Fortnite, there are more ways than ever to earn XP. Now the Battle Pass has rewards that go far beyond reaching level 100. In fact, Chapter 5 Season 1 had several bonus rewards that reached well over level 150. It turns out, this was just the start of Fortnite’s new uphill battle. Season 2 has even more rewards with many more that haven’t been unlocked yet past level 120. A user who had already hit level 120 on Fortnite after just three weeks of playing the season, shared a screenshot of some of the items that were locked behind high levels. While typically these bonuses are usually flashier than most, Fortnite has now started locking things as basic as a backbling behind high levels. “I absolutely hate how they’ve started mixing basic and advanced styles up in the Battle Pass so you can’t have a complete set of any particular color without getting to level 150,” said one player. Others agreed that these sorts of “basic” accessories should be left to the main Battle Pass instead. Although multiple users pointed out that the new opportunities to gain XP made the climb not as bad. Especially when pointing out that the poster was already over level 100. “Fortnite still has what is unequivocally the most valuable BP in gaming. It’s a shame they want more playtime from you for the “same value” you used to get for less, but it’s pretty minor reduction. How many of you aren’t gonna get 150 that are here complaining anyway?” argued another commenter. Since Chapter 5 Season 2 is less than a month underway, there are still multiple weeks of challenges left to complete. Which should allow players to move through the Battle Pass. Although there are ways to level up quickly in the new season. So players should have no problem earning the rewards present in all pages of the Battle Pass.

Fortnite is getting new movement mechanics in Chapter 6 according to leaks – Dexerto
Fortnite is getting new movement mechanics in Chapter 6 according to leaks Epic GamesAccording to recent Fortnite leaks, the upcoming chapter predicted to be released later this year will be bringing new swinging and prone mechanics. The Fortnite 2024 roadmap may have been leaked earlier this year, and while it unveiled collabs and events players could anticipate, there may be a lot more coming to the game. Another leak has surfaced, and this time, it revealed two new movement mechanics coming in Chapter 6 – predicted to be released on December 1 – alongside other gameplay additions. According to well-known Fortnite leaker HYPEX in a post on X, Chapter 6 will be bringing swinging and prone mechanics. We’ve seen similar mobility items in the past that allow players to swing, like Spider-Man’s Web Shooter and Grapple Gloves, so it’d be interesting to see how this would be implemented in the game. On the other hand, prone is something entirely new that has not been introduced in the Battle Royale before. Players who have previously PUBG or other popular shooters are surely no strangers to this mechanic. Prone is essentially where your character lies face down on the ground. Most of the time, it’s used to hide yourself from the enemy, either to heal up, reload, or simply reposition. It’s also used to position yourself in a way where you’re hidden and can snipe unsuspecting enemies without putting yourself in danger. It may still be too early to think about Chapter 6, but with these mechanics potentially added to the game, only time will tell how the meta will look like then. Other than two new movement mechanics, HYPEX also mentioned other additions, such as possible new modes, Creative Pet Support, and a possible Floating Island theme. So far, another thing that has been leaked also suggested that a female K-Pop group collab will be joining the game around the same time. All in all, it looks like there’s a lot to look forward to in Fortnite’s next chapter.

Fortnite is increasing V-Bucks prices again in some countries – Dexerto
Fortnite is increasing V-Bucks prices again in some countries Epic GamesEpic Games has decided once again to increase the price of Fortnite’s in-game purchases such as V-Bucks in select countries. Announced on September 10 during Chapter 5 Season 4, Epic Games revealed that it would be adjusting the prices of Fortnite’s V-Bucks and content packs due to “factors such as inflation and currency fluctuations.” Around the same time last year, Fortnite announced that V-Bucks prices would increase in multiple countries, all due to the same issues. These changes will be applied on October 14. This time, the countries affected are Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Nigeria, Vietnam, and the Philippines. The blog post announcing this change also stated that it would be making price adjustments “around the world on a more regular basis.” Players in these countries shouldn’t be worried about their Fortnite Crew subscription, as that pricing will not be affected. They should only expect V-Bucks, alongside current and future content packs, to be pricier. Read the tables below to see how the prices in Fortnite are affected in these six countries. As a reminder, we don’t have the current prices for comparison so we’re unsure of how much of an increase each region is receiving. V-Bucks Current Content Packs While these price changes may not have affected your country, Epic already hinted at wanting to do these adjustments on a more regular basis, so you may expect price updates in the future for other regions such as America, Canada, Australia, the UK, and more. Fortnite wasn’t the only game recently to be affected by the worldwide economic changes. Riot Games increased prices in certain regions, some up to 70%.

Fortnite is finally bringing back best competitive mechanic after over a year – Dexerto
Fortnite is finally bringing back best competitive mechanic after over a year Epic GamesFortnite is reintroducing a fan-favorite gameplay feature to the 2025 competitive season after a long absence from Battle Royale lobbies. Fortnite’s FNCS 2024 competitive season concluded in Texas as ‘Pollo’ and ‘Peterbot’ were crowned Global Champs this year and took home their share from the $2,002,000 prize pool and a shiny gold trophy. This year’s FNCS season comprised of Duos matches that spanned several majors and saw a significant shift in loot pool and gameplay mechanics across various Fortnite seasons in Chapter 5. However, nothing really changed massively in terms of competitive gameplay as compared to the 2023 pro season − OP mythics were still vaulted, the gameplay was balanced and matches seemed like a rerun of the past year. After the tournament concluded, Epic announced its plans for the 2025 season with a bigger prize pool of $8,000,000 and switching from Duos to Trios mode for the year. But one added announcement thrilled players the most − the return of Siphon. Siphon will come back for the 2025 season, but will first be introduced in a series of tournaments called Siphon Trials in various gameplay formats. This means that after rigorous testing, it’s Epic’s call to implement it in FNCS or not. To those unaware, Siphon grants players health and shield upon each elimination, similar to how the Doombot Medallion works this season. While this is a move appreciated by players and is claimed to be a “massive W,” several others raised concerns due to its counter to other elements like Storm Surge: “But we need to change Surge or else it’s gonna be bad and unhealthy.” Another chimed in: “‘Versions of Siphon’, imagine you get 25 health for knocking someone and 25 extra for finishing him.” Apart from the usual praise, one of the top demands players made from Epic was to add a Zero Build tournament for FNCS 2025, which has been requested for quite a while. Regardless it would be quite thrilling to see the return of Siphon once again in the 2025 competitive season, where players hope it’ll also be included in Ranked mode other than the usual Trial tournaments.

Fortnite is bringing a first person mode in 2024 but there’s a catch – Dexerto
Fortnite is bringing a first person mode in 2024 but there’s a catch Epic GamesA first-person mode is finally coming to Fortnite later this year, and fans are over the moon with the news of the long-anticipated mode. As a predominantly third-person title, fans have always dreamed of Fortnite expanding its camera POVs. Those calls were semi-addressed when new weapons allowed ADS options, mirroring the feel of first-person shooters like Call of Duty and more. It seems like the community’s pleas may finally be answered. Epic Games’ keynote during State of Unreal 2024 revealed a ton of exciting information relating to Fortnite, including a Fall Guys arrival, a switch to UEFN for battle royale in 2025, and more. Amongst the sea of news, the arrival of a first-person mode caught the eyes of many. Of course, fans seeing the news were over the moon with the idea, especially since this idea has been a popular theory in the Fortnite rumor mill for some time. “LETS F**KING GO,” one player replied to ShiinaBR’s tweet, while another shared that Fortnite’s Creative Mode will see players playing Call of Duty after creators remake all the maps. Some fans weren’t thrilled with the idea, as they feared Fortnite was continuing its plight to imitate Warzone, a major complaint when Chapter 5 arrived. What many players haven’t picked up on is that this is only for UEFN’s Creator tools, not a permanent design choice in Fortnite’s core modes. Whether that will change or not will remain to be seen, but there’s still some time before this goes live since no date is attached.

Fortnite is bringing Duos & Trios lobbies to Reload mode very soon – Dexerto
Fortnite is bringing Duos & Trios lobbies to Reload mode very soon epic gamesDon’t have enough friends to play in a squad with in Fortnite Reload? Well, Duos and Trios lobbies are likely to be coming soon. Fortnite has just introduced the all-new Reload mode in Chapter 5, Season 3, allowing players to jump in OG POIs and get their hands on some classic weapons. And already, the game mode has been met with a surprising influx of players to the point it managed to surpass other previous modes. With a tweaked reboot mechanic, smaller map, and rich loot pool, Fortnite Reload offers a fresh and fast-paced experience, leading the community to sing praises about the game mode. Despite that, it’s not without its fair share of issues. One thing that the community has been quite vocal about is the restriction of the game mode to being squad only, as you’re pitted against other squads in the new map. This is unlike Battle Royale and Zero Build, where players can team up in Duos, Trios, or even play Solos. However, as revealed by Fortnite content creator PeQu on X, Duos and Trios will be coming to the new mode very soon: “Fortnite just added a Duos Mode for Fortnite Reload to the API.” However, “it’s not coming anytime soon” as the Duo Playlist “isn’t in the files” and “only in the API,” meaning that “it can’t come out until they release a new game update and add it to the files”, as written in the comments. Aside from this, in a separate post, it was also revealed that Trios are likely coming into the game mode as well. Though it’s unclear when these lobbies will actually make it to the game, some players are already looking forward to it. “Massive W so happy right now,” commented one user. “THANK YOU,” another chimed in. Overall, the Reload game mode experience has been a welcome addition to spice things up in Fortnite. However, aside from the squad-only lobby, it’s no secret that the matches can be pretty sweaty against more experienced players.

Fortnite Iron Man Whiplash car leaked with insane speed stats – Dexerto
Fortnite Iron Man Whiplash car leaked with insane speed stats Epic Games[jwplayer ESyDssxd]A new Fortnite leak has revealed that an Iron Man skinned Whiplash car is coming soon – and it’s actually going to be better than the normal ones. With the start of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4, some of Marvel’s most popular heroes and villains descended on the battle royale island for a season titled Nexus War. As characters like Iron Man, Thor, Doctor Doom, Storm, and She-Hulk have arrived, so too have some skins, other cosmetics, new weapons, and even points of interest like the Helicarrier and Doom’s Domain. While leaks have also revealed that more mythical superpowers will be arriving throughout the season, the Marvel heroes are also getting their own cars – well, Iron Man is at least. Fortnite Iron Man-themed Whiplash That’s right, according to a leak from data miner SexyNutella, Iron Man-themed Whiplash cars will soon be available to drive around Fortnite. The Iron Man theming doesn’t really deviate from the typical looking Whiplash that is available right now, but makes it look like Tony Stark has given its a personal touch with a few different colors, a glow-up Arc Reactor on the hood, as well as a Mark 51 license – just like how his suits are labeled. On top of the theming, the Iron Man Whiplash will be faster than the others. The max speed of the themed car comes out at 120, where the usual Whiplash clocks in at just 90. Iron man whiplash top speed: 120 Normal whiplash: 90Iron man whiplash is confirmed to be faster. pic.twitter.com/eHpnBtIC5e — Defaults V2 (@SexyNutella_) August 30, 2020 Whether that means the special variant will eat up gas quicker or will be so rare that you barely see one in-game, remains to be seen. It’s unknown if Epic Games also has plans for other superhero-themed cars but imagine a Thor Mudflap or a Groot Bear with increased health? That would really shake up the roads and make everybody want to drive Fortnite’s cars.

Fortnite is already one of the most popular games on Nintendo Switch ever – Dexerto
Fortnite is already one of the most popular games on Nintendo Switch ever The insanely popular battle royale game has seen it’s success cross to yet another platform, as it has been revealed that Fortnite is already one of the most downloaded games on Nintendo Switch ever. With Fortnite already a massive worldwide success on PC, consoles and mobile, some people thought that the introduction of the game to Switch would be too late, as players would have already found their preferred device to play on. However, according to data from Nintendo themselves, Fortnite Battle Royale has been downloaded to “nearly half” of all Switch consoles in just four months. With Nintendo stating that around 22 million units of the console has been sold already, that means just under 11 million copies of Fortnite has been downloaded by Nintendo Switch users. Read More: 4 ways to improve the Fortnite Shopping Cart – Considering that the battle royale was only released on the Switch during E3 in June, it’s incredible to see the massive growth of the title on the new platform, and the fact that it is available for free means it’s unlikely to see a decline in downloads any time soon. The popularity of the console isn’t slowing down either, as Nintendo continue to see steady growth thanks to sales of the Switch, which they describe as the perfect balance of “gaming at home and on-the-go”. Fortnite has already generated over $300 million from in-app purchases on iOS in just 200 days, and the game is now available on Android phones too, after Epic Games chose to bypass the Google Play Store and release it themselves. With continued success like this, it’s easy to see why companies and investors are eager to throw money at Epic Games and Fortnite. Recently, Epic announced that they had received over $1.2 billion in new investments, with their total company worth sitting a staggering $15 billion.

Fortnite iOS patch v8.11.1 released by Epic Games – Dexerto
Fortnite iOS patch v8.11.1 released by Epic Games A Fortnite patch came to iOS March 22 that fixed some of the stability issues plaguing the platform. When people think of Fortnite chances are they think of the console or PC versions first but there’s actually a pretty large mobile player base. Both iOS and Android devices now have the ability to reach 60 FPS but there are still numerous issues plaguing the platform. Epic Games pushed out an iOS patch on March 22 to fix some of the stability issues on the platform but warned it wouldn’t be fixing them all this go around. What it does do is give Epic Games a new way to gather information when crashes occur in an effort to resolve the problems are quick as possible. This iOS patch targeted stability issues in Fortnite Here’s what Epic Games wrote on Reddit about the patch. Hey Folks, We’ve just released patch v.8.11.1 on iOS, intended to help with some of the stability issues that players have been experiencing. While this patch will not fix all the current stability issues that players are experiencing, we have included a new way for us to gather more information when crashes occur, in order to resolve these issues as quickly as we can. Thanks for your feedback, we’re working on it! It looks like Epic Games has decided to prioritize iOS devices with this patch as it’s possible the problems are more prevalent on iOS rather than Android. With each patch Fortnite receives it irons out some bugs so we should be able to expect more fixes in a future update. Early on Season 8, there was a bit of controversy as mobile and Nintendo Switch lobbies were merged together. Mobile players are upset they are matched against Switch players now On one hand, the Switch can’t reach 60 FPS so mobile has the advantage there but Switch users have the ability to use the Pro Controller. If mobile players plug in a controller and use it then it will pair them up with other controller lobbies like Xbox One and PS4. The change probably helped Switch users get more Victory Royales but made it more difficult for mobile users.

Fortnite player discovers invisibility medallion counters OP Season 4 weapon – Dexerto
Fortnite player discovers invisibility medallion counters OP Season 4 weapon Epic GamesA player has shown that Fortnite’s invisibility medallion isn’t as “useless” as many in the community believe. The start of Chapter 5 Season 4 brought three new medallions to Fortnite, one being Mysterio’s Stealth Medallion. Anyone who finds and picks up the item will become invisible while crouching, making it hard for opponents to spot them during combat. Not everyone is convinced of the stealth medallion’s effectiveness, however. Shortly after the Season 4 launch, players dubbed the invisibility medallion the “most useless” item because it didn’t feel “close to real invisibility.” The community continues to debate its usefulness, but one person has confirmed the medallion does come in handy from time to time. A Redditor shared gameplay footage showing themselves running from someone with War Machine’s Auto Turret equipped. Notably, the turret can automatically lock-on to enemies and fire on sight. But when the Reddit user rounded a corner and used Fortnite’s invisibility medallion, not even the turret could spot them. The enemy walked right past the invisible player and their War Machine turret appeared as clueless as ever. Since the opponent is playing as Avatar’s Toph – a blind character – the Reddit thread is filled with jokes about how this doesn’t really prove anything. Still, others in the comments argue Mysterio’s Stealth Medallion does have its uses. One person noted it’s good for rebooting teammates in squads, since some players have started crouching while invisible on top of the Reboot Van. “That medallion’s clutch in the right hands! People just don’t know how to use it,” someone else added. Others pointed out that it works wonders “if you can get into a tree,” too. Because just one spawns per match, the only way to get this particular medallion is by killing Mysterio or looting it from someone who has it in their possession. The medallion’s rarity means players will continue to debate what value it brings to the fight.

Will Fortnite ever return to Apple iOS? Epic reveals App Store plans – Dexerto
Will Fortnite ever return to Apple iOS? Epic reveals App Store plans Epic Games / AppleA new European law is bringing Fortnite back to Apple Devices, but American fans will still have to wait. There’s a lot of confusing legal jargon being thrown around after Epic’s latest legal victory, but the thrust remains the same: Fortnite will return to iOS stores. Sort of. The change greatly impacts European users, who will finally be able to play Fortnite on an iOS device for the first time in years. However, American audiences may still have a wait ahead of them – assuming it ever returns. Here’s a quick rundown of why Fornite isn’t on the US App Store and how that could change. Why isn’t Fortnite on the US Apple App Store? Fortnite was removed from the iOS App Store in 2020 as part of a massive scandal between Apple and Epic Games. The game, which launched for mobile devices in 2018, was actually removed from both Apple’s App Store and Google Play Store at the same time. Epic had instilled its own in-game store to allow players to purchase V-Bucks in an effort to circumvent commissions both stores instilled on in-app purchases such as micro-transactions. These commissions are nothing new and have been a headache for some time. They’ve seen some subscriptions, such as the recent changes to Twitch, cost more when purchased on an app versus a website in an effort to offset the cost of the fees. Others, like Netflix, simply don’t let you subscribe on a mobile device, directing you to a website instead. After being removed from the App Store, Epic filed suit against Apple and Google, citing the practice stifled competition. Epic actually won the Google lawsuit in December 2023, with Google Play’s billing systems found to be an illegal monopoly. (As of this writing, Fortnite has not returned to the Google Play store, either). However, prior to the Google win, Apple mostly won its lawsuit against Epic. A San Francisco judge ruled that Apple must allow users more ways to pay in the App Store. However, the bulk of Epic’s claims were dismissed. An appeal to the Supreme Court to review the case was also rejected. How will Fortnite come to European iOS devices? A 2023 legal victory in Europe is paving the way for Fortnite to return to iOS devices. The European Union instilled new rules via the Digital Markets Act, which opened up for Epic to bring the game back to iOS devices. The DMA is intended to prevent large online platforms from being “gatekeepers” and ensure such platforms “behave in a fair way online.” Apple has since announced it would implement changes to its App Store to accommodate these changes beginning in March 2024. The changes will enable sideloading apps (installing an app from an API rather than an app store) and installing alternate app stores. However, Apple will continue to implement a processing fee for developers that use Apple’s in-app payment system, as well as a slew of additional fees. Among these is a Core Technology Fee, which would charge roughly €0.50 for every annual app install once an app reaches a million annual installs. On Twitter, Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney spoke about DMA and how Epic opposes Apple’s continued attempts to dictate the terms of how stores function under the new law. “Epic has always supported the notion of Apple notarization and malware scanning for apps,” Sweeny tweets, “but we strongly reject Apple’s twisting this process to undermine competition and continue imposing Apple taxes on transactions they’re not involved in.” Fortnite will not return to iOS directly, but rather will be playable on iOS via an Epic Games Store app. As of this writing, more details are forthcoming. Will Fortnite ever return to the US App Store? There’s currently no word on an agreement to bring Fortnite back to the US App Store. The road to getting Fortnite back on iOS has thus far proven to be a tumultuous one. Epic was actually informed they had been blacklisted from iOS in 2021. As of this writing, it is presumed that the blacklist remains in effect; according to Sweeney’s comments in 2021, resolving the blacklist could take upwards of five years. Much like how Epic handles Fortnite on Google Play-supported devices, there are a number of work-arounds to play Fortnite on iOS, including Xbox Cloud Gaming and NVIDIA’s GeForce Now app. You can find detailed instructions in our guide for how to play Fortnite on an iOS device. Fortnite invisibility glitch lets players cause absolute chaos – Dexerto
Fortnite invisibility glitch lets players cause absolute chaos Epic GamesFortnite players have got a new way to go invisible and troll their opponents, and it involves using the Mudflap truck. [jwplayer so0eN9Pk] As the Fortnite seasons have unfolded, and Epic Games has added plenty of new content to the battle royale, players have found more and more ways to get an advantage over their opponents – be it legitimately or by using glitches and exploits. In the past, these glitches have ranged from being able to use whatever skin you want, getting under the map, and being able to carry more items than normally allowed. There have also been God Mode and invisibility exploits too. While Epic has been pretty good at rooting those out, even disabling the items that help players use these glitches, there’s a new one they’ll have to get rid of. The new invisibility glitch was pointed out by YouTuber GlitchKing who showed that it works similar to the invisibility glitch with the boat in seasons past. Players have to be knocked at the same time they’re entering a Mudflap truck, and then by doing so, are thrown underneath the truck while knocked. If they’re then picked up a teammate, they are invisible to everyone else in the lobby. Sometimes it doesn’t work as intended, obviously, as GlitchKing showed that his friend had attempted it a few times – once being throw under the map and another being eliminated altogether. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ui9D67AeR4c Obviously, when players are invisible, it’s impossible to get a read on their position. As GlitchKing demonstrated, he was able to cause havoc by damaging enemies who were clueless as to where he was. Though, he did give the game away by picking up knocked enemies. Given that the glitch revolves around the Mudflap, Epic might have to disable the vehicle while they get things figured out, but as of writing, the problem hasn’t made its way to their Trello board so it remains to be seen as to whether or not they’re aware of it.

Fortnite invisibility exploit allows players to glitch under map with Sneaky Snowman – Dexerto
Fortnite invisibility exploit allows players to glitch under map with Sneaky Snowman A Fortnite Battle Royale player has discovered a game breaking glitch that appears to give players on PlayStation 4 (and presumably PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and mobile) the ability to become totally invisible using a Sneaky Snowman bug. It’s been a big week for Fortnite – the v7.30 patch that was released on Tuesday, January 5, might have vaulted a number of fan favorite weapons but it was a huge step forward in terms of gameplay and performance. The Week 9, Season 7 challenges were some of the best that we’ve seen in quite some time, the Snowfall skin was officially revealed along with an interesting progression system and the highly anticipated Marshmello event is due to kick off on February 2! However, penguinzomby – a YouTuber that specializes in finding innovative hiding spots and tactics within Fortnite – has discovered one bug that Epic Games will surely be keen to fix as soon as possible, because it allows you to become invisible! “MASSIVE brand new bug in Fortnite right now,” penguinzomby said after contacting Dexerto with information on the glitch. “I reported it to Epic, it needs to be fixed. You can go under the map just by jumping. It’s pretty broken.” In the video, penguinzomby can be seen hunting for hiding spots as he often does before hitting what appears to be an invisible wall and jumping under the map. The cause appears to be directly related to the Sneaky Snowman items that were added to the game in the v7.20 Content Update on January 22. The YouTuber continues to show that the bug is present in a number of different locations and can be abused during live public matches, not just Playground or Creative. We would advise all players to avoid abusing this glitch. If you use it to gain an unfair advantage intentionally, you could receive a punishment from Epic Games. As penguinzomby has contacted the game’s developers with information about the exploit, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a hot fix released in the near future. In the meantime, you can keep up with all the latest Fortnite news by following @Dexerto on Twitter.

Fortnite introduces tameable pets in Season 6 update – Dexerto
Fortnite introduces tameable pets in Season 6 update After plenty of speculation, new tameable pets have been confirmed for Fortnite as the popular battle royale adds wolves, chickens, frogs, and boars to the map in Season 6. If you’ve been longing to travel around Fortnite with a companion by your side, Season 6 has you covered. The March 16 update introduces tameable pets for the first time in Fortnite’s history. First leaked back in December, wolves have seemingly been in the pipeline for quite some time. Now, after teasers from Epic Games as well, they’re finally in the game. Little is known about how they function for the time being. Though they’re not alone as the only new animals in Season 6. Chickens, frogs, and boars are also popping up around the map. Here’s everything we know. From classic weapons returning to new POIs, there’s plenty to digest. However, one of the biggest additions was teased just days out. A March 14 video showed a number of unique images, one of which appeared to be a wolf. As the Season 6 downtime began, this teaser came to fruition. “Tameable wolves are confirmed to be in this season,” prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX shared on Twitter. This means players will be able to tame their own pets while traveling the map. Wolves could be hostile at first, but after taming them, they might even fight beside you. Alongside the new wolves, three other animals were also highlights: chickens, frogs, and bears. Though there’s no telling if these will be tameable pets as well, or just new animals appearing across various locations. Tamable wolves are confirmed to be in this season, also new Chickens, Frogs & Boars! — HYPEX (@HYPEX) March 16, 2021 While pets previously made a splash in earlier seasons as cosmetic items, it appears they’ll have much more to do this time around. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled when dropping into Season 6. After all, wolves might not be all too friendly at first.

Fortnite Inventory concept that would make the holiday season a lot more fun – Dexerto
Fortnite Inventory concept that would make the holiday season a lot more fun With the holidays fast approaching, the next few weeks are set to be a jolly time for Fortnite Battle Royale and its vast player-base. Players can expect Fortnite lobbies to be filled to their brink for the next month or so, especially with so many of the younger players on vacation from school. With the game as popular as very, more and more kids are going to want cosmetic items as presents, rather than actual gifts. Reddit user ‘RaphDaPingu’ has come up with a suggestion that could make it even more enjoyable to play Fortnite during the holidays, which would involve Epic Games unlocking every single cosmetic item for Christmas Day, which is December 25 in the United States. “Just for Christmas Day, unlock every single item in Fortnite (including default skins) for everyone,” he wrote. “So we all could enjoy our day playing with the items we always wanted.” It seems that when the Reddit user says every single item, he means literally every single item, which would include some of the rarest and least seen items in the game, such as the Black Knight and his shield, shown in the image above. Some of the items, such as the Black Knight skin, can never be obtained again because they weren’t sold in the Item Shop and were rewards for players who reached certain tiers in past seasons’ Battle Passes. If this suggestion becomes reality, it would allow many players to don the cosmetic items they would otherwise never be able to, which would be a great gift Epic Games could bestow upon its loyal player-base. Whether or not Epic would decide to do such a thing remains a whole other question, although it would seem that unlocking every item for a single day wouldn’t really hurt a company that’s bound to make insane revenue in the coming weeks anyway.

Fortnite player reveals innovative way to use the Harpoon gun – Dexerto
Fortnite player reveals innovative way to use the Harpoon gun A Fortnite Battle Royale player has shared an innovative way to use the new Harpoon gun, pulling unsuspecting enemies into traps and killing them instantly. Fortnite’s Harpoon gun has changed the way players look at the popular Battle Royale forever. Introduced in the Chapter 2 update, it has been labelled as one of the strongest guns in the game, having the ability to displace enemies and deal a ton of damage. However, its utility can be used in more ways than one, with a player sharing how you can use the gun to lure enemies into traps and win fights instantly. Reddit user ‘JakeMCFC’ shared his play on December 1, showcasing how you can use the Harpoon gun to turn the tides of a fight — with the right setup. After him and his duo were almost knocked down in a fight around Pleasant Park, JakeMCFC took shelter in a house to try and heal himself back up. However, in case someone tried to stop him, he put up a trap on the wall inside the door. Read more: When will Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 1 end? – Just as he expected, one player stormed into the building to try and hunt down the low-health player before he could heal up. But, instead of becoming the hunter, the enemy became the hunted, with JakeMCFC putting his trap plan into motion. He used his third-person perspective to keep an eye on the player, pulling them into the trap as they looked to break it down. The player took damage from the harpoon shot, before getting finished off by the trap. With the enemy dealt with, JakeMCFC was then able to heal up in peace and continue on with the game as normal. He even got the ‘Yoink’ achievement, which is given to players after they kill an opponent immediately after pulling them in with the Harpoon gun. Since the weapon’s release on November 4, players have been looking for interesting ways to use the Harpoon gun to their advantage. From pulling loot from across the map, to dragging fleeing enemies closer, there’s many different ways to use the gun effectively. This little trap set by JakeMCFC might be one of the best yet though, and should be picked up by other players. So, be careful next time you see a rogue trap laying around, as there might be someone waiting for you around the corner with a Harpoon gun ready to strike.

Fortnite insider claims The Boys crossover is coming – Dexerto
Fortnite insider claims The Boys crossover is coming Prime VideoAccording to insider Nick Baker, The Boys may be coming to Fortnite at some point in the future, although the ETA is unknown. Since its debut on Prime Video in 2019, The Boys has taken the gaming industry by storm. Various members of the show have made appearances in games like Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir in MW2, along with Homelander’s recent arrival in Mortal Kombat 1. It seems like the crossovers won’t stop there, however, as industry insider Nick Baker said The Boys may come to Fortnite in the future. That said, he isn’t sure which characters will join, as he doesn’t know the specifics of the collab. Baker’s words come from The XboxEra Podcast, where he continued that Epic Games’ “stupid timing” won’t see this crossover happening anytime soon despite Season 4’s arrival. “They’ll probably put The Boys in three years time,” Baker jested. The discussion starts at the 3:20:40 mark of the podcast. Baker’s had an accurate history of sharing Fortnite collabs, with the likes of Avatar and X-Men, specifically Magneto, a part of his track record. He’s also stated One Piece, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and many more are on the list of crossovers. Fortnite’s latest season introduced a crossover with Fallout, the hit gaming series turned TV show on Prime Video, without much delay between both parties coming together. Players can nab the T-60 Power Armor via Chapter 5 Season 3’s Battle Pass. If proven true, it’s likely a crossover of this size would end up in the Battle Pass or as part of a mid-season event similar to Avatar or the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. For now, fans of The Boys will have to catch the show or nab Homelander in Mortal Kombat 1 when both arrive in early June.

How to unlock Fortnite’s Inferno cosmetics – New skin, wrap, and pickaxe ValveA new Fortnite leak revealed a new bundle is on the way called the Inferno Pack and with it comes a set of new cosmetics along with challenges to complete. Fortnite appears set to debut a new set of challenges and bundle into the game called the Inferno Pack, which will feel familiar to players to purchased the Fallen Love Ranger bundle. This bundle will include the Inferno outfit, pickaxe, wrap and a new set of challenges for players to complete. No release date has been given for it as of yet, but here’s what we know so far according to leaks. What is the Fortnite Inferno Pack? The challenges will give players a chance to earn V-Bucks back after purchasing the bundle using real money instead of V-Bucks. These challenges aren’t anything too difficult as they only require you to play the game and complete daily challenges, operating very similar to how the Fallen Love Ranger challenges worked when they were available. The Fallen Love Ranger challenges offered more V-Bucks to earn back but the new leaks have shown just 1,100 V-Bucks are available to earn back with the Inferno Challenges. Comparatively, the previous bundle allowed players to earn back 2,000 V-Bucks by completing all of the challenges. What are the Inferno Challenges? Inferno Challenges: 1 Daily Challenges: 100 V$ 3 Daily Challenges: 300 V$ 5 Daily Challenges: 300 V$ 7 Daily Challenges: 400 V$ 10 Daily Challenges: Pickaxe (image 1) 14 Daily Challenges: Wrap (image 2) pic.twitter.com/GhRQCUw01U— Lucas7yoshi_ // Fortnite Leaks & News (@lucas7yoshi_) April 10, 2019 According to a leak by Lucas7yoshi, players will have to complete 7 daily challenges total to earn the max amount of V-Bucks back. Completing 10 challenges gets the pickaxe while completing 14 will earn players the wrap. This probably means that you are instantly rewarded with the skin as soon as you purchase the bundle. As with all leaks, they are to be taken with a grain of salt until we receive some sort of official announcement from Epic Games.
