How to complete Harley Quinn bundle challenges for skin style Epic GamesEpic Games are set to add a brand new Harley Quinn bundle to the Fortnite Item Shop, but there’s one style that you can’t just purchase with V-Bucks. Here’s how to get the Always Fantabulous Harley skin style. The cosmetic pack, inspired by DC’s character, was previously leaked following the arrival of the 11.50 update on February 5. Now, though, the crossover has been confirmed by the game’s developers. Announced in a blog post, just a day after the patch rolled out, Harley Quinn was confirmed as the next major addition to the Fortnite skin collection. The pack itself, which includes the Harley Quinn Outfit, Harley Hitter and Punchline Pickaxes, will be added to the Item Shop on February 6 and will 1,500 V-Bucks. It won’t be there for long, though, as it’s only sticking around until February 17. One thing that it doesn’t include, however, is the character’s second skin style, so let’s take a look at how to get it. How to get Harley Quinn’s ‘Always Fantabulous Harley’ skin style Renowned leaker HYPEX previously shared a number of Harley Quinn challenges and they have since been confirmed. Owners of the bundle are going to need to complete three different challenges to unlock the extra Harley Quinn skin style. The challenges are as follows: Place top 30, 20 and 10 in Solos, Duos or Squads (1) – Hit weak points (100) – Deal damage with pickaxes to opponents (100) – By completing these three, you can unlock what appears to be a slightly shorter-haired Harley Quinn wearing alternate clothing, giving some variation to what other players might be wearing in-game. I’m the one they should be scared of. BECAUSE I’M HARLEY FRICKIN’ QUINN!#HarleyQuinn is ready for mayhem and bringing Gotham’s havoc straight to Fortnite. Grab the Harley Quinn Bundle tonight starting at 7PM ET, learn more about the bundle in our blog: https://t.co/JUkKl7KNep pic.twitter.com/iFb335rIfC — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) February 6, 2020 These challenges look extremely easy and could all be completed in one game if you play your cards right, so there’s no need to stress over getting the extra style. HYPEX followed up from his tweet shortly after with a closer look at both the regular and alternate skin styles, showing what they look like in the inventory with a full view of the entire skin. People seem pretty impressed with it in the replies, saying they “need” the skin or that it is an “instant purchase.” There’s no confirmed price point at the time of writing, but it seems some players already want to purchase the Harley Quinn skin, regardless of the cost — so this may prove to be a very popular one. With the extra style so easy to unlock, it might not be quite the rare skin people would hope for, but it will still look great as you roam the map and earn a Victory Royale ahead of Birds of Prey’s official release.

Unlikely Fortnite attachment makes Hand Cannon even deadlier – Dexerto
Unlikely Fortnite attachment makes Hand Cannon even deadlier Epic GamesFortnite’s Hand Cannon just resurfaced; however, now players can equip it with a 4x scope, making it even deadlier than before. The Hand Cannon, or Deagle, has returned for Chapter 5 Season 2 in the 29.10 update. Fortnite players interested in equipping the fan-favorite handgun can find it scattered around in floor loot, chests, and the drops of defeated opponents. This time, though, the gun has a different shine to it, thanks in no small part to a certain weapon mod. Players have already discovered that they can attach a high-powered sniper scope to the Hand Cannon. So far, the community is thrilled by the revelation. Reddit user Interesting-Ad1352 shared the news in a post that’s quickly garnering lots of attention. “You can put a 4x scope on the Hand Cannon,” the player explained. They proved their point with a screenshot seen in the link below: One user in the comments has already tested out the 4x scope on Fortnite‘s Hand Cannon. “[It] hit for 188 headshot let’s go,” the commenter replied in one post, then followed up with, “Also no bullet drop that I can tell.” Another person expressed their enthusiasm by writing, “Hell yeah, that’s what I was hoping for.” The new and unlikely combination stirs fond memories for Fortnite veterans, too, who can’t help but recall the power of the Night Hawk exotic. Last seen in Chapter 3, Night Hawk was a scoped revolve with a thermal effect. Reads one comment, “I swear if you do that it’s basically just the night hawk exotic lol.” Someone else added, “Go half the zoom with the thermal scope and it’s close too.” It’ll be interesting to see if opinions on the Hand Cannon and scope pairing change as Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 carries on.

Fortnite hands out free Season 3 experience after Week 4 mission glitch – Dexerto
Fortnite hands out free Season 3 experience after Week 4 mission glitch Epic GamesEpic Games has awarded all Fortnite players with a much appreciated boost to their Season 3 battle pass after it was discovered one of the Week 4 challenges was glitched. Last week it was Lazy Lake. This week it’s Pleasant Park. However, one thing is constant — Floating Rings in Fortnite are proving to be a problem. One of the Week 4 challenges in Fortnite’s Season 3 battle pass tasked players with collecting the Floating Rings at Pleasant Park. However, for some players, the mission has been near-on impossible to complete. Much like Week 3’s issues at Lazy Lake, some players cannot seem to find the Floating Rings at the POI. They are invisible to players with low graphics settings, and for others on certain platforms, they just won’t show regardless. While they are still in the game, not being able to see them makes actually collecting them a game of guesswork more than anything. Some players did push through the challenge, but for those who didn’t, Epic has extended an olive branch. For this week’s Floating Rings challenge, Epic will give experience to all players — regardless of if they’ve completed the mission or not. “Due to an issue with the Collect Floating Rings at Pleasant Park challenge, we’ve automatically completed it for all players,” the devs stated on July 9. The extra 35,000 XP for players will be a much appreciated gift for those wanting to get everything in the battle pass. Every mission counts, and any little boost helps. Due to an issue with the Collect Floating Rings at Pleasant Park challenge, we’ve automatically completed it for all players. — Fortnite Status (@FortniteStatus) July 9, 2020 For players who already completed the challenge before the rewards were dished out to everyone though, there’s a bit of bad news. Sadly, players will not be given any extra XP for completing the challenge before it was handed out to everyone. The question remains though: will players have to deal with this same issue at another POI next week? After two weeks of failed challenges, Epic has not made it clear when a fix could be implemented. Leaks from the v13.20 patch pointed towards another challenge in Week 5 requiring players to collect Floating Rings at Steamy Stacks, but we will have to wait and see if Epic decides to change course if the issue isn’t fixed by then.

Fortnite hammer bug launches player into the sky like its Super Smash Bros – Dexerto
Fortnite hammer bug launches player into the sky like its Super Smash Bros Epic GamesFortnite’s controversial Shockwave Hammer experienced yet another game-breaking glitch after already getting temporarily removed once. Fortnite Chapter 4 introduced the Shockwave Hammer, which could be used as a way to propel yourself across the map or send an enemy flying off into the distance. Community members were excited to get their hands on the versatile weapon, but an infinite bounce glitch forced Epic to disable the hammer’s use in-game temporarily. Upon its return, the developers reduced the number of Shockwave Hammer bounce charges from four to three, and the decision elicited a mixed reaction from players. Despite receiving a slight nerf, one player tried to use the weapon to secure a victory in the final circle, but the decision epically backfired. Shockwave Hammer costs Fortnite player a win A Fortnite player shared a clip on Reddit, attempting to secure a match-clinching kill with the Shockwave Hammer. Instead, the hammer shot the user straight backward and out of the final circle, resulting in a painstaking loss. The shocked Fortnite player couldn’t believe what had happened to them and joked, “I must have overclocked my hammer.” Fearing another removal of the weapon, one player responded, “Due to an issue, we have temporarily disabled the shockwave hammer.” Other community members reacted much differently and celebrated the potential removal of the Shockwave Hammer. “Yay, maybe another day or two without hammer if this happens more often.” A third player put on their detective hat and claimed, “this isn’t a bug, you just launched that stuff on top of the roof and flew away on it.” Whether or not the video clip is a glitch or not, it’s clear Fortnite players are still unable to come to an agreement on if the weapon belongs in the battle royale.

Fortnite Halloween skins leaked: New Skull and Ghoul Trooper styles – Dexerto
Fortnite Halloween skins leaked: New Skull and Ghoul Trooper styles Epic Games released a number of incredible skins and styles to kick off Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 1, but even more have been leaked ahead of schedule following the v11.1 patch. The game’s latest major update, which went live on October 22, was never really expected to change a lot in terms of the Battle Royale mode, but instead introduced a number of fixes and content for Save the World. However, just like many other patches in the past, Epic have added some new content to the game’s files and it hasn’t taken long for data miners to get their hands on them. Judging by their aesthetics, we wouldn’t be surprised to see many of them added for Halloween. Fortnite leakers HYPEX, ShiinaBR, xkleinmikex and PXLPAT were active, as ever, once the patch was set live and during the downtime they discovered evidence to suggest that both Skull Trooper and Ranger are going to get new styles in the near future. That’s not all, though, as there are a number of – what appear to be – Halloween skins and styles also included in the leaks. So, let’s check them out. Fortnite leaked skull sets New Ghoul Trooper styles leaked NEW GHOUL STYLE!! pic.twitter.com/3DCVkf8QRH — HYPEX – Fortnite Leaks & News :jack_o_lantern: (@HYPEX) October 22, 2019 Other leaked skins and cosmetics following v11.1 update Aside from the skull set and skin styles for Ghoul Trooper, which are all expected to be added to the game shortly, there have also been a number of other skins and cosmetics appear in the game’s data files. As you can probably tell, there was certainly a lot more to unpack – in terms of leaks – from the v11.1 patch than many might have expected, especially considering how many changes were implemented at the start of the new season just a week previous. If you would like to see how they all look in-game, too, check out this short video from MakksBR. All leaked skins in-game! #Fortnite (Via @MakksBR) pic.twitter.com/smeSRQO9Nd — Fortnite News :goat: (@FNBRHQ) October 22, 2019 However, with the Halloween event very much on the horizon in Fortnite, we’ll have to see what Chapter 2 has in store for us during its spooky themed weekend. Judging by these leaks skins and cosmetics, it’s going to be one hell of a ride.

Fortnite Halo Master Chief skin leaked and coming soon – Dexerto
Fortnite Halo Master Chief skin leaked and coming soon 343 IndustriesNew leaks suggest that Halo’s iconic Master Chief character might be coming to Fortnite, as the collaborations keep coming in to Epic Games’ hit battle royale title. In recent Fortnite seasons, we’ve already seen Marvel characters make their way into the game and, for Season 5, a collaboration with The Mandalorian brings new cosmetics and challenges to the game. For the strong legion of fans of the Halo series though, whether they still play it regularly or not, the idea of playing as Master Chief in Fortnite will be a hugely exciting one. Here’s what we know about Master Chief in Fortnite so far. Is Master Chief coming to Fortnite? While there has been no official confirmation or even a hint from Fortnite or Halo devs 343 Industries, the leaks are starting to grace the internet, bringing the character that the entire Halo story is based around to the daunting battle royale island. After an initial tweet from FNBRLeaks suggested that there would be a collaboration in the future — including a Red vs Blue LTM (Red and Blue are the two teams in Halo) as well as cosmetics — it was backed up with screenshots of the rumored cosmetics. As you can see in the tweet below, there is allegedly a Master Chief outfit coming to the game, as well as a Lil’ Warthog Emote and a UNSC Pelican Glider arriving, both from the Halo series. Here’s some images of the Halo Cosmetics, these are confirmed to be real. https://t.co/kycgIuSSWl pic.twitter.com/y4umAc8Udu — Fortnite: Battle Royale Leaks (@FNBRLeaks) December 3, 2020 When is Master Chief coming to Fortnite? As for when the leaked Master Chief is due to arrive, we don’t have much information yet. On December 2, leaks revealed that God of War’s Kratos will be arriving in Fortnite during Season 5. Some fans have theorized that Kratos could be arriving in Season 5 for PlayStation fans (as God of War is a PlayStation exclusive) whereas Master Chief could be the Xbox alternative, with Halo being Xbox-exclusive. If they do come at or around the same time, Season 5 is due to end on March 16, so expect to see these arrive by then if they’re both expected this season. As always, take these leaks with a pinch of salt — while they come from reliable sources, we never the full details on these until Epic Games confirm them, so we’ll just have to wait and see.

What is the Halloween ‘Final Reckoning’ event in Fortnite? – Dexerto
What is the Halloween ‘Final Reckoning’ event in Fortnite? Epic GamesThe Fortnite x Batman Gotham City event may have dropped a new teaser for Season 11 with the ‘Final Reckoning’ movie and posters. Fortnite’s map as we know it has gone through many changes since the game’s release in September 2018, with the introduction of many different types of terrain such as the desert around Paradise Palms to the Pressure Plant volcano. However, fans may be set to receive a completely new Fortnite map after a set of posters possibly teasing the Island’s destruction have been added to the game as part of the Batman collaboration event. What is the Final Reckoning? The fan-favorite Titled Town has been replaced by the Batman-inspired Gotham City which is full of familiar venues to Batman fans such as Wayne Tower and Gotham PD as part of the latest update. Many fans believe the end of the Fortnite map has been teased at the Gotham movie theater, which is currently advertising an upcoming movie titled “The Final Reckoning.” The future in-game movie also has many posters scattered around the venue with different characters and villainous-looking figures on many of the walls at the Movie theater. It is suspected that each of the characters teased to make an appearance in Fortnite could be part of “The Seven,” the group which the Volta Visitor Skin is said to be a part of and that they will be the reason for the destruction of the current map. As of now only six members out of the possible seven, including the Volta Visitor, have been revealed in-game, making it likely that more teasers could follow before the season’s end. It seems quite likely that Epic Games are gearing up for a new map as many map changes in Season 10 paid homage to some of the battle royale’s original points of interest, such as the return of Dusty Depot. Many also expect that the characters in the movie may be later added to the game as separate character skins for players to experience similar to the Volta Visitor. H/T: Forbes

Fortnite hackers panic as Epic Games cracks down with new anti-cheat – Dexerto
Fortnite hackers panic as Epic Games cracks down with new anti-cheat Epic GamesFortnite hackers are having a hard time in the battle royale after Epic Games’ implementation of Byfron, a new anti-cheat to thwart cheaters from ruining games. Epic have been dealing with a constant stream of hackers for years that spans everything from aim-botters to invincibility cheats. These problems have been so ingrained into Fortnite that even pro players raised concerns about cheaters infiltrating the competitive scene. Though the issue has been a long-winded saga for Epic, it seems like the latest chapter of the struggle has cheaters reeling from the new anti-cheat. On July 6, screenshots show apparent hackers frustrated at the new Fortnite anti-cheat that’s preventing them from accessing the game entirely. “FN will be down for a while. Fortnite after three years has decided to add shit that will make it hard to cheat,” one hacker said in a Discord server. “They have greatly protected things that we need to make a cheat. “Before this update nothing was protected, now everything is. We will be up soon, hopefully, but f**k you Fortnite.” For the time being, it looks like hackers will try a workaround for the new ant-cheat from the company Byfron but it’s not looking like they’re having much success. Byfron has been making massive waves in the Fortnite cheating community its very funny some have already given up Album of tears https://t.co/NBQYNmMDQN pic.twitter.com/JupjGuAOaI — Anti-Cheat Police Department 🕵️ (@AntiCheatPD) July 6, 2022 Epic now has three layers of anti-cheats including EasyAntiCheat and Battle Eye that were previous attempts at protecting Fortnite’s integrity. According to Byfron, their security measures include features “thwart dynamic analysis attacks with our novel anti-virtual machine and anti-debugging features” while using software to “curb static analysis with full binary encryption at rest, prevent tampering of your protected code, and block untrusted third party applications.” So far, everything is looking good for Fortnite players who want to play the game without encountering a cheater.

Fortnite Halloween cosmetics leaked – including the return of Skull Trooper skin – Dexerto
Fortnite Halloween cosmetics leaked – including the return of Skull Trooper skin A major new Fortnite leak has surfaced, showing unreleased cosmetics for Halloween – including the much anticipated Skull Trooper skin. As soon as Halloween decorations began being spotted appearing on the Fortnite map, fans immediately began to speculate that the Skull Trooper skin would come back. It was only available for a short time during the Halloween season in 2017, and so became a rare skin, a sign that a player had been playing Fortnite Battle Royale since release. The leak comes courtesy of @MystxcLeaks and @The1Jaren, who have somehow devised a method of seeing future releases coming to the Fortnite shop. They do not have images for all of these new cosmetics, as they are not yet in the game files, but they have share an image of the Skull Trooper being shown as a featured item, as well as a new ‘Ghost Portal’ back bling. The Ghost Portal was actually leaked a number of months ago, but has never seen the light of day in game. Crazy storm concept in Fortnite could improve competitive matchesIt is expected that they will be added in an upcoming content update, sometime before the end of October.

Fortnite hacker makes FNCS Finals to showcase “terrible” anti-cheat – Dexerto
Fortnite hacker makes FNCS Finals to showcase “terrible” anti-cheat Epic GamesA Fortnite cheater made a statement during the FNCS Chapter 2 Season 3 solos qualifiers — qualifying for the FNCS qualifier finals while hacking to showcase just how “terrible” the game’s anti-cheat is. Cheating is a problem that continues to plague Fortnite. In the casual game, you’ll run into your fair share of hackers beaming you from across the map with inhuman aim. On the pro side of things, it’s not as common. While it’s usually teaming that gets players in trouble, sometimes Epic’s anti-cheat lets proper aimbotters and wall-hackers slip through the cracks. However, one player made a statement by exploiting the system to grind their way to the top. NA-West player Kona turned on the cheats for the final FNCS Solos qualifier, and made it count. Kona made their cheating as blatant as possible. They used an aimbot, which caught the eyes of streamers wondering who the new hotshot was. However, more egregious than that, they streamed themselves doing so on Twitch. They had the cheat client open throughout the qualifiers, showing off how they did it. Kona didn’t deny it when pressed, even stating in their stream title they were “sacrificing account to show how bad the anti-cheat is.” Kona did end up placing high enough to make the FNCS qualifier finals and have a chance of making the heats, however has since been disqualified. They have been banned from Fortnite as well, although it’s unclear how long the suspension is for. Kona claims that they cheated to prove how terrible Fortnite’s Easy Anti-Cheat is. “For real though, the anti-cheat in this game is so terrible to the point where someone can get to finals. I hope people learn from this,” they tweeted. https://twitter.com/KonaG_/status/1292632557335351296 They did make a Twitlonger just before that though, where they made a remark about how “new players can never do good.” It appears that the statement was made tongue-in-cheek though. “It’s so stupid how new players can never do good,” Kona said in the earlier Twitlonger. “I pop off one tourney because I realize I’m sh*t with charge [shotgun] and I get accused. Epic Games will clear it up, don’t worry.” Kona has been dropped by their organization, Deny, after the cheating accusations came to light. Regardless of the circumstances, Deny stated they “do not stand for cheating in any form.” https://twitter.com/KonaG_/status/1292628122089615361 “Due to evidence brought to light by a great community, we have cut all ties with Kona. We were not told of any prior accusations before today. We do not stand for cheating in any form,” Deny told fans on Twitter. Dexerto has reached out to Kona for comment, but they did not reply by time of publishing.

Fortnite hacker threatens to dox Tfue after being confronted on stream – Dexerto
Fortnite hacker threatens to dox Tfue after being confronted on stream Fortnite star Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney finally came face-to-face with the hacker that has been ruining his ‘Tfault scrims’ and was seemingly threatened with a potential dox. Like many top streamers, Tfue gets his fans involved every now and again, allowing them to head-to-head against him and other players in the ‘Tfault Scrims.’ These custom games operate like a competitive Fortnite match, where the pace can be much slower and some of the final zone buildings can reach incredible levels. However, in recent weeks, Tenney has found his custom matches being ravaged by an aim-botting hacker – with the Fornite professional even going as far as calling upon Epic Games to do something about them. Yet, after a few weeks of waiting, the popular streamer finally confronted the hacker head-on. During his January 3 stream, Tfue had been playing alongside his new duo partner Scoped when the opportunity arose to confront the aim-botting hacker. The Fortnite streamer quickly invited them into his pre-game lobby for a chat where his new sidekick asked the hacker about his motivation for hacking and ruining matches. “Yeah [it’s fun], the game is dead,” he replied before the dove into deeper conversation. Hacker threatens ‘Dox’ Tfue and his duo partner quizzed the hacker about his identity, asking him about a Twitter account that had been sent to Tenney and was said to reveal how the hacker looked – even if it was lacked a real name. Despite disputing that, the hacker in question revealed that someone had recently called his parents regarding the hacking – asking if it was Tfue who did so. “Whoever that was, just know that there’s a dox coming very soon – and I’m not even joking,” the hacker said. Yet, his threats didn’t end there, even if the next round where slightly more veiled than the first. “Like, you guys damn well know that you guys shouldn’t be doing sh*t like that right,” he said. “Because, imagine… I’m not trying to threaten y’all right now, I’m not trying to, but just saying – like, what if, like I know someone that can. I’m just not going to say it,” he added, all while Tfue tried to mock him for being “nervous.” Now, while Tfue didn’t quite get the confirmation that the hacker would stop interfering with his games that he may have liked, he did manage to shine the spotlight on them even further. Whether or not anything further comes from his conversation – be it a ban towards the hacker or something happening to Tfue as was seemingly threatened – remains to be seen.

Fortnite hacker gets instant karma and is banned live on stream – Dexerto
Fortnite hacker gets instant karma and is banned live on stream Epic GamesFor a game as big as Fortnite there’s bound to be some hackers, but this rule-breaker found out that Epic responds pretty fast to those reports – much to the delight of a Mixer streamer. For all the issues that the battle royale game faces, hacking isn’t really as widespread so it can catch you off guard when you come across a hacker. Players who are booted by Epic in the middle of the session pop up in the elimination feed as being “struck by the ban hammer” so you’ll always know when it happens. However, most of the times you aren’t even aware there is a hacker. When you are a victim of one, it definitely sucks, but it’s always fun to stick around to see what happens to them after you hit that report button. Reddit user and Mixer streamer SlackAttackk captured this moment live on stream by just waiting around for a few minutes to see what would happen. It turns out that his wait paid off. After being beamed by a no-skin player using a SCAR, the streamer watched the remainder of the game as he did the same to other players, even ones he didn’t have line of sight on. Then came the moment everyone was waiting for. “Yes!” he exclaimed. “He got banned! Fuck you kid! Haha!” It was definitely a vindicating moment for everyone who was eliminated by this player, as SlackAttackk was not the only one angry at being taken out by a cheat. Hackers being banned on stream is actually isn’t all that uncommon as we’ve seen it happen before in many other games. The same thing happened in July during a match of Apex Legends where a hacker with an aimbot miraculously vanished from the game in the middle of a firefight. Unfortunately, it didn’t work like that with this Fortnite hacker but at least other players won’t have to run into them again in the future.

Fortnite Guardian Shields: Where to find & how to block shots – Dexerto
Fortnite Guardian Shields: Where to find & how to block shots Epic GamesThe Guardian Shield has arrived in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, but where can you find it? And how do you use it to block shots? Here’s everything you need to know. Fortnite always keeps players on their toes by adding new weapons and items to improve their loadout, and the latest addition is the Guardian Shield, which places a forcefield in front of you to block bullets. This useful item was teased during the Chapter 4 reveal trailer, so fans are naturally eager to try it out for themselves. Below, we’ve covered where to get one and how to block shots with the Guardian Shield. How to get the Guardian Shield in Fortnite Guardian Shields can only be obtained by searching Oathbound Chests. These are rare, high-tier chests which means they’re quite hard to find – and it’s not even guaranteed that you’ll get a Guardian Shield inside every one of them. The best location to find a Guardian Shield is The Citadel, as there are four Oathbound Chests located inside the castle here and plenty more in the surrounding area. You can also find Oathbound Chests at Shattered Slabs and Faulty Splits. You can see all of the Oathbound Chest locations marked on the map courtesy of Fortnite.gg below: Of course, you could always just eliminate another player that has a Guardian Shield and steal theirs, but that might be quite difficult when they’re able to block your shots with the shield. How to block shots with the Guardian Shield in Fortnite To block shots with the Guardian Shield, you simply need to equip it in your inventory and then hold down the shoot button (for example, the R2 trigger on PlayStation). Alternatively, you can aim and throw the Guardian Shield like you would with a Grenade or a Chug Splash. Do this while an opponent shoots at you and you’ll block their bullets. Remember that the Guardian Shield won’t last forever, so don’t get caught out in the open when that protective barrier disappears. That’s everything you need to know about Guardian Shields! Fortnite Season 4 might bring back the Guided Missile after four years – Dexerto
Fortnite Season 4 might bring back the Guided Missile after four years Epic GamesA recently released teaser image from Epic Games has Fortnite fans convinced the Guided Missile might return during Season 4. An overly powerful explosive, the Guided Missile originally entered the fray in a March 2018 patch. As the name implies, players can control the projectile’s path, unlike standard rocket launchers. Similar to several other heavy damage-dealing weapons, this particular missile launcher divided the player base. While some Fortnite fans didn’t mind the weapon’s presence, countless others thought it too overpowered. As such, Epic vaulted and unvaulted the Guided Missile a few times before storing it away long-term approximately four years ago. Is the Guided Missile finally returning to Fortnite? Epic Games has unleashed yet another teaser for Fortnite Season 4. HYPEX shared the photo on Twitter, which doesn’t seem to reveal much at first glance. However, closer inspection reveals that the presumed rocket launcher in the photo above is no ordinary launcher. In a subsequent Twitter post, HYPEX noted the weapon in question actually “uses an updated version of the Guided Missile’s projectile.” The Fortnite leaker posits the art may serve as a hint that Guided Missiles will return with the advent of Season 4. At the time of writing, Epic Games has yet to confirm whether or not Guided Missiles will indeed make a comeback. In fact, much about Season 4 presently remains under wraps. The publisher did unleash a few teasers earlier in the week, however, with some confirming long-running rumors. For example, it seems that Spider-Gwen from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will join the roster of playable heroes next season. Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 is expected to launch across all platforms on Sunday, September 18.

Fortnite Guardian locations and how to defeat them – Dexerto
Fortnite Guardian locations and how to defeat them Epic GamesFortnite Season 6 has brought plenty of changes to the game, but one of the biggest changes is the addition of new Guardians. Fortnite’s Season 6 update is finally live, bringing with it map changes, tameable wolves, craftable weapons, and new Lara Croft and Neymar Jr. crossover skins. There are also the usual bugfixes and adjustments to the game’s loot pool. While many Fortnite players will be busy exploring the effects of the Primal biome and getting to grips with the new craftable weapon system, there are a few new NPC boss fights that have been spotted on the map. There are a total of six Guardians that have been added in the Fortnite Season 6 update, but finding them can be a little tricky. The Guardians inhabit specific locations of the map and drop decent rewards if you manage to take them down. This will make them particularly popular amongst players that want the best weapons and gear. All Fortnite Season 6 Guardians As of writing, there are currently a total of six Guardians that can be encountered in Fortnite Season 6. Fortnite Guardians are non-playable characters that appear in the game’s world. They are known to patrol their own area, have full shields/health bar, and have access to special powers. For example, the Guardian of the Fields has access to a dash, which enables her to dodge incoming bullets and melee attacks. The six Fortnite Guardians and their specific guides are listed below: Guardian of the Sea – Guardian of the Fields – Guardian of the Mountain – Guardian of the Lake – Guardian of the Woods – Guardian of the Bay – Fortnite Guardian locations Season 6 Map With Names! (via @VastBlastt) pic.twitter.com/m4Y3ZHwqoU — HYPEX (@HYPEX) March 16, 2021 Both HYPEX and VastBlastt have found the locations of the six Guardians, so make sure you use the map above before you go trekking around the map. The Guardians are pretty easy to spot as they are kitted out with purple body armor, so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding them. Read More: How to make your own Fortnite weapon – It’s important to note that each Guardian patrols the areas above, meaning they won’t be in the exact same spot each time. However, they never stray too far and will begin shooting as soon as they spot you. How to beat Fortnite Guardians While the Guardians may not be able to build any structures, they do have access to some pretty strong abilities. If that wasn’t enough, the weapons they use can melt through even the most well-armored of players. This means you’ll need to come prepared before venturing to any of their locations. To avoid any frustrating deaths, it’s often best to ensure you have access to shields and healing items. Additionally, scouting out the area for any enemy players can also help you avoid falling prey to any surprise attacks. Fortnite’s Guardians drop pretty powerful weapons when defeated, which can give you a decent edge over your opponents. Be sure to pick up the Mythic Primal Shotgun from Guardian of the Spire as this weapon absolutely shreds in Season 6. There you have it, everything you need to know about the Fortnite Season 6 Guardians. Make sure you check out our Fortnite live blog for all the latest news and updates.

Fortnite: Grimy Greens becomes the first location to replace Risky Reels at The Block – Dexerto
Fortnite: Grimy Greens becomes the first location to replace Risky Reels at The Block Grimy Greens, a location designed by ‘kaancitak’, will be the first fan-made area added to the Fortnite map, the developers have confirmed. Grimy Greens was designed as a submission piece for ‘The Block’ – an area of the map reserved for fan-made content from the Creative mode where Risky Reels used to be. Players around the world have been submitting their work every since The Block was announced, but kaancitak’s creation will be the first to go live in the standard version of the game for all players around the world to explore. Unfortunately, the developers at Epic Games have revealed that the new location won’t be going live just yet due to a delay, but anyone that wants to check it out can do so by visiting the Creative island using the code 8641-0487-1161. The release of the first the Block content by kaancitak will be delayed and will go live at a later date. Until then visit the island by using code 8641-0487-1161. https://t.co/a6j48ZKlfZ — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) December 18, 2018 The designer describes Grimy Greens as: “A secret Vindertech facility disguised as a botanical garden established during season 3, Grimy Greens has a mysterious history. “The facility is rumored to have ties to the production of stink grenades and has been abandoned ever since the rift closing up.” The music and atmosphere of the Grimy Greens video makes us feel like we’re exploring the post-apocalyptic world of The Last of Us rather than Fortnite, but that’s what makes it so special! It will be interesting to see how popular the abandoned facility will be once it goes live in the main game. December 18 also marked the release of the v7.10 patch which introduced the ‘14 Days of Fortnite’ limited time event, various weapon and Stormwing balancing changes, and even revealed more of castle under Polar Peak.

Fortnite Grind Rails: Locations and how to ride on them – Dexerto
Fortnite Grind Rails: Locations and how to ride on them Epic GamesFortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 has introduced a brand new mechanic which allows you to ride on Grind Rails to get around the Island, so here’s where to find them and how to ride on them. With the release of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, several new features have cropped up across the Island. One of the most notable additions in this season has been the introduction of Grind Rails, which you can ride along just like zip lines. Unlike other modes of transportation, you’ll be able to attack enemies and heal yourself with items while riding on Grind Rails. Having said that, let’s dive in and check out how you can grind on rails in the new season of Fortnite. How to ride on Grind Rails in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 In order to use Grind Rails in Fortnite, all you need to do is jump on top of one of the neon rails and you will automatically start grinding toward your chosen direction. Controlling your movement while on the rails is also quite simple and doesn’t require you to do much. You can accelerate the speed at which you are moving by using the forward movement key. Alternatively, you can use the backward movement key to slow down and change the direction in which you are moving if you hold it down long enough. The best part about Grind Rails is that riding them doesn’t prevent you from doing additional functions like shooting at enemies or recovering your health and shield with items. You can use them to complete the Week 11 quest which requires you to ride a Grind Rail using the Spider-Verse Web Shooters. Where to find Grind Rails in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Earlier, the only places you could find Grind Rails in Fortnite were either inside Mega City or towards the west of Kenjutsu Crossing. This brand-new location can be found inside the futuristic biome at the southeastern corner of the map, so make sure you land there if you want to try them out. However, with the latest v24.40 update, Grind Rails can also be found inside The Citadel, Slappy Shores and Shattered Slabs. All you need to do is head over to either of the POIs and spot them spread across the above locations. So, there you have it – that’s all you need to know about the Grind Rail feature in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2! Fortnite golden chicken trick lets you farm gold easily – Dexerto
Fortnite golden chicken trick lets you farm gold easily Epic GamesIf you’re fed up of constantly running out of gold in Fortnite, check out this golden chicken trick that can max out your gold in a single match. Midas’ return to Fortnite didn’t only bring lava to the island but golden chickens as well. These little critters are loud, shiny, and will attempt to flee the second you approach them. Unlike regular wildlife animals, these chickens will also drop 12 gold when killed. But don’t get trigger-happy just yet when you see one waddling around the map. As pointed out by a player in a Reddit thread, there’s a way you can farm gold using them. When you wait long enough, these chickens will lay golden eggs on the ground. You get 350 Gold Bars for each egg. In my playthrough, I found the interval of each egg was random. Sometimes, the chicken would lay an egg right after another one, but there were times it would take longer than usual. That said, if you’re looking into maxing out your gold in a single match, keeping the golden chicken alive as long as possible is the priority here. One way you can do that is by bringing the chicken inside a building. Like regular chickens in the game, you can press “F” to grab the golden chicken when you’re close enough. It’s worth knowing that your character can jump higher than usual when holding the chicken. Though this isn’t as extreme as Flowberry Fizz’s low gravity effect, it can help you reach certain buildings or places that are safer. Once inside the building, all you have to do is release the chicken and collect its eggs. Assuming nobody finds you, the next thing you know is you’ll be hopping your next match loaded with gold you can spend to hire NPCs or purchase some of the best weapons in the game.

How to get a Grapple Glove in Fortnite Season OG – Dexerto
How to get a Grapple Glove in Fortnite Season OG Epic GamesFortnite Chapter 4 Season OG has reintroduced the Grapple Glove; here’s how players can get their hands on it in-game. Epic Games added the Grapple Glove in Chapter 3, giving players a new and exciting way to quickly traverse the Island. The item has a fair share of limitations since it operates on a cooldown timer and will occasionally overheat. Fortnite players still find a use for it, though, which likely explains why it keeps returning to the loot pool. To the delight of many, Epic brought the Grapple Glove back into the fold once more for Chapter 4 Season OG. How players can find the Grapple Glove in Fortnite Season OG Unfortunately, there’s no surefire way of discovering Grapple Gloves while exploring the Island. In other words, one can’t be directed to a specific spot where it will consistently spawn. Grapple Gloves are a rare commodity in Season OG, so they won’t pop up among floor loot or inside of chests. The best way to secure a Grapple Glove is through Rift Encounters, random events that spawn on the map during matches. If a player spots a Rift Encounter while it’s available, they’re basically guaranteed a Grapple Glove pickup. There’s also less than a 50 percent chance that users will be able to find the utility item in Supply Drops. Of course, players could find themselves lucky enough to loot a Grapple Glove from another fallen user. Fortnite’s Grapple Glove marks one of the latest additions to Chapter 4 Season OG. The Season kicked off on Friday, November 3, allowing players to once more explore a classic map. Season OG also reintroduced past POIs like the Tilted Towers. Vehicles such as the Quadcrasher have returned as well. Fortnite Gold Bars trick lets players rack up money in no time – Dexerto
Fortnite Gold Bars trick lets players rack up money in no time Epic GamesFortnite Season 5 has introduced a new currency called Gold Bars, and one player has found a fast and easy way to get lots more of them. Aside from The Mandalorian cosmetics and a reimagined map featuring new and returning Points of Interest, one of the biggest additions in Fortnite Season 5 is Gold Bars, an in-game style of money that can be spent on Exotic weapons or hiring NPC bodyguards. So far, the most obvious way of collecting Gold Bars has been to complete quests and bounties from NPCs on The Island. You can also find them in hidden stashes around the map, or by taking out other players, who will drop some of their currency when they’re eliminated – if they have any. But a new trick discovered by one inventive Fortnite player – Reddit user no_karma29 – has provided a quick and easy way to rack up Gold Bars without having to complete lengthy missions or search the map for safes and chests. How to get easy Gold Bars in Fortnite The method relies on bounties, a new gameplay feature that was introduced for Fortnite Season 5; there are several NPCs located around the map who will offer you Gold Bars in return for taking out a specific player. Read More: Here’s where every NPC spawns in Fortnite – Essentially, if you carry a knocked down player – someone who’s run out of health – to any NPC who offers player bounties, it should target the player you brought along with you. As they’re already down, they’ll be easy to finish off, and you’ll get that sweet Gold Bar reward. Instructions for getting quick Gold Bars in Fortnite: Make sure you’re near an NPC who offers bounties. – Take out a nearby player, or find a player who’s already been knocked down. – Carry that player to the NPC. – Start a bounty. – Take out the player you carried with you if they’re the target. – Enjoy your Gold Bars! – This method cuts out the most time-consuming part of player bounties – locating the target – so should make the whole process much quicker. You can watch an example of this trick in action in the video from Reddit below. Some Fortnite players have questioned whether the trick will work every single time, as the targets for bounties were believed to be chosen at random. However, a number of people responded saying it’s worked for them on multiple occasions. “I knocked two people outside of an NPC’s house (SW of the Coliseum) and it gave me both of them back to back,” wrote one Reddit user. Another added, “I’ve done at least 15 bounties, some poached some killed. It’s always been [a player] nearby.” To get all the latest Fortnite Season 5 tips, guides, and leaks make sure you check out our dedicated Fortnite page.

Fortnite to go “beyond battle royale” with open-world mode – Dexerto
Fortnite to go “beyond battle royale” with open-world mode Epic GamesEpic Games has unveiled bold plans to take their flagship title Fortnite “beyond battle royale” off the back of a new “open-world” game mode, following in the footsteps of rival Apex Legends and their competitive “Arenas” playlists. The Fortnite publishers have been quite vocal in the past few years about their desire to expand their battle royale beyond its original, and now very much iconic last-man-standing game mode. According to Fortnite’s newly leaked Stipulated Exhibits Documents, which were officially revealed as part of the ongoing Epic Games v. Apple lawsuit, there’s plans behind the scenes to make an “open-world simulation sandbox mode,” in a similar vein to Grand Theft Auto’s sprawling Los Santos multiplayer map. Fortnite insider HYPEX tweeted the news late on May 3. “Epic will go beyond Battle Royale [next season], and give us an open-world simulation sandbox,” the Fortnite leaker revealed. He also hypothesized the new mode may be “a replacement for Battle Lab” in future seasons. Ironically, this same claim — to “go beyond battle royale” — was the slogan Respawn just rolled out for their latest Apex Legends season, Legacy. The plan, which Epic has reportedly had bubbling away at their Cary studios in North Carolina for some time now, also evokes Minecraft and more recently Roblox’s popular game builder engine with its “open-world” designs. Perhaps the closest comparison though, fairly, is Fortnite’s co-operative title, “Save the World”. While Epic’s original Fortnite release is classically dubbed as an “open-world” adventure, the free-to-play game is actually closer to Left 4 Dead 2 or Call of Duty: Zombies in nature. This newly-leaked playlist will lean towards Minecraft or Valheim, insiders have suggested. Leaks from this week also seem to confirm these recent reports. Newly uncovered images depict a campsite in a large, Fortnite-style forest. Three spawn spots, including for “Assault Rifles,” “Makeshift Bows,” and “Primal Bows,” appear in one still. A large forest ‘biome’ appears in another. HYPEX also originally shared several “Sandbox” images on Apr. 27, including tree & camp codes, and a “weird thing to spawn random objects with a seed.” Even better, this new “open-world” mode is just around the corner. As Dexerto understands, Epic has already loaded a number of the new mode’s codes and elements into the battle royale backend. This suggests a release date could be imminent; expect an announcement sometime soon, now that the blockbuster Apple lawsuit has led to it leaking early. Also leaked from the Epic vs Apple lawsuit; scrapped The Rock, the Hunger Games, and Arianna Grande crossovers, and an upcoming Naruto skin release.

Fortnite gold bar trick lets you get rich faster than ever – Dexerto
Fortnite gold bar trick lets you get rich faster than ever Epic GamesA Fortnite player has disclosed a unique way to gather large quantities of gold bars during a Battle Royale match in order to become rich faster than ever before. While this strategy does not require illicit activity, here’s how it works using only your wits and an unusual item from the loot pool. The wildly successful battle royale game Fortnite, created by Epic Games, has become well-known not only for its compelling gameplay and memorable dances, but also for its share of humorous bugs and errors. While the devs at Epic work hard to eliminate such problems, occasionally they result in hilarious or endearing additions to the gameplay. Over the course of several years, players have exploited and embraced bugs spanning from the Double Pump Meta to the XP Glitch maps in Creative mode to their advantage during gameplay. Nonetheless, as of Chapter 4 Season 4, the game is still rife with exploits for players to discover and use to their advantage. One such player has discovered an amusing trick in the game that allows them to become rich more quickly than ever before by stacking up on large quantities of gold bars all at once, using only one item from the loot pool and pure luck during a Battle Royale match. Here is how the trick works and how you can effortlessly utilize it in-game. Fortnite player shows unique trick to gather gold bars faster ItsThatGoatBoy, a Fortnite player, has posted a gameplay clip on the FortniteBR Subreddit in which he demonstrates a unique technique for farming large quantities of gold bars during a Battle Royale match. In this exploit, the user throws Shield Breaker EMP grenades at multiple Vending Machines on the island that spawn from Rift Encounters. Each of the four machines spawns a stack of gold bars for the player to collect as soon as the EMP is thrown at them. After throwing multiple EMP grenades at the vending machines, the player was able to obtain more than 2,000 gold bars, which is a quicker method than breaking stacks of gold bars in a vault. So in order to perform this trick, all you need to carry are multiple Shield Breaker EMP items that can be acquired from Heist Bags or Loot Chests and find any vending machine on the island to use it at. As of now, there’s no limit to how many gold bars a machine can grant so it’s safe to say you can try it with as many EMPs as you can. Upon seeing this exploit, a number of players on the subreddit deemed it to be the “most satisfying glitch” in the game. In addition, a few of them mentioned how this saves them time and makes them wealthier than ever before, thereby granting them considerable amounts of gold bars. That’s everything you need to know about how to get gold bars faster in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4! Fortnite’s Goat Simulator 3 skin turns players into bodybuilder Goat – Dexerto
Fortnite’s Goat Simulator 3 skin turns players into bodybuilder Goat Epic Games, Coffee Stain PublishingTo celebrate Goat Simulator 3’s imminent release on consoles and PC, Epic Games is offering a buff Goat skin to Fortnite players. The first Goat Simulator launched in 2014, allowing players to assume control of a goat who could jump and run, as well as bash and lick various objects. Its humorous ragdoll physics and THPS-esque scoring system elevated the sandbox adventure further still, so much so that Goat Simulator is receiving a sequel – Goat Simulator 3. Because so many games, movies, and TV shows participate in Fortnite crossovers ahead of a new release, it only makes sense that the goat sim follows suit. How to get Goat Simulator 3 skin in Fortnite Thanks to a new promotion, Fortnite players can show off their Goat Simulator love in-game. Those who buy Goat Simulator 3 on the Epic Games Store before 11:59 PM ET on September 29, 2023 will gain access to a skin inspired by the sim’s protagonist, Pilgor. Players will find the outfit in their Fortnite Locker upon booting up the multiplayer title, so long as they sign in to Fortnite with the same Epic account that made the purchase. All who don’t buy Goat Simulator 3 but still want the Pilgor skin need not worry. The item will enter the Item Shop later this year on November 26. Pilgor looks quite different from her usual design, landing on Fortnite Island with a bodybuilder frame. In a post on the Epic Games blog, Lead Artist at Coffee Stain North, Elin Hamberg, explained that Goat Simulator’s hyperrealism didn’t fit the Fortnite brand. As a result, the worlds of Goat Simulator and Fortnite collide with a skin depicting a muscular, crop top-wearing half-goat, half-human hybrid. Goat Simulator 3 comes to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms this fall on November 17.

New Fortnite glitch allows players to shoot through Lazy Lagoon’s boat – Dexerto
New Fortnite glitch allows players to shoot through Lazy Lagoon’s boat Fortnite has become no stranger to bugs since Season 8 began but this new bug might take the cake so far. One of the new locations Fortnite added with its Season 8 update was Lazy Lagoon which is a little hideaway featuring a small lagoon. This new spot is home to pirate ships, which is also the home of the new potentially game-breaking glitch that has been found. A clip shows players are actually able to get inside of the boat and shoot from one of the walls while being invulnerable themselves. In the clip, the player is entirely hidden in the lower deck but can climb the ramp and have a complete view of the upper deck, giving them an immediate advantage over an unsuspecting player. PSA: You can shoot trough a part of the boat in lazyhttps://t.co/AJlC7yrnjW pic.twitter.com/tWtia1sqXV — alpha fuzzey (@qtfuzzey) March 10, 2019 Fortnite has had its share of small bugs here and there but this one is a major problem as players are able to actually shoot through objects. As more attention is drawn to this issue we expect to see Epic Games come out with a fix. A major patch comes out tomorrow, March 12, and it’s possible we could be seeing a fix as early as then. With each patch, Epic Games usually tries to focus on some bugs and features that aren’t working properly. This glitch was posted to Reddit where users shared their encounters with this spot, even with one player reporting they won a match because of this. “I did this and came 1st my first try,” wrote Cali_6006. “I got so lucky. The circle literally closed around lagoon. I got 17 kills with a good pump. All of them were through the glitch. It needs fixing lmao…” We’ll see what Fortnite has in store for this glitch in future updates.

Fortnite Glitched Consumables are being changed already – Dexerto
Fortnite Glitched Consumables are being changed already Graphics: Epic GamesEpic Games have decided to make a quick change to the Glitched Consumable items in Fortnite Season 10, just hours after being added to the game. The new variety of glitched items were included in the v10.10 content update, which went live on August 20, but have already been causing players some problems. While the new batch of content has brought a whole host of map changes, this new set of items can only be found at the new Crater location. The new crater, which is basically a huge hole in the map, replaced the outgoing Indoor Soccer Pitch point of interest after a Rift Beacon malfunctioned and blew it up. However, now there appears to be another malfunction at the destination as Epic have quickly moved to disabled one element of their new item set. “Due to an issue, we’ve disabled Shadow Stones from the Glitched Consumable area. All other Glitched Consumables are still available,” the developers tweeted from the official Fortnite Twitter account on August 20, just over three hours after the update was rolled out. Due to an issue, we’ve disabled Shadow Stones from the Glitched Consumable area. All other Glitched Consumables are still available. — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) August 20, 2019 The Shadow Stones, which had caused previous problems when they were first added to the battle royale game back in Season 6, have now been disabled once again. While the reason for their removal is unclear, in the past players have found ways of using the items to become permanently invisible in matches. When Epic reveal the reason for their disabling this time around, we’ll let you know. As of the time of writing, though, it appears to be unclear. Stick with Dexerto for more information on Fortnite as we will keep you updated about any more changes during the course of Season 10.

Fortnite glitch lets players get two boss mythics at once – Dexerto
Fortnite glitch lets players get two boss mythics at once Epic GamesA new Fortnite glitch is allowing players to get two mythic weapons from a Chapter 5 Season 2 boss in a single encounter. Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 is nearing its conclusion as the new Star Wars content has arrived on the island with the latest 29.40 update. With the content patch, new mythic weapons have been added to the loot pool that players can easily acquire. However, the seasonal mythics remain a favorite among players – so much so that now they’ve found a glitch to get two of them from a single boss encounter in a Battle Royale match. The glitch was carried out by a user at The Underworld POI, where you can encounter the Hades boss and get the Aspect of Siphon and Hades’ Harbinger SMG upon defeating him. The user named Itchy-Flan9832 then shared a screenshot of two Mythic SMGs on the ground next to one another on a deleted Reddit post. Elaborating on the glitch, the user revealed that to acquire two Mythic Harbinger SMGs, players simply need to challenge Hades in the storm. As soon as you challenge him, eliminate two waves of his minions and wait for Hades to spawn on the ground. Then hide out of Hades’ sight and wait for him to get eliminated from Storm Damage. Once he’s eliminated, you can head over to the spot where he died and see the two SMGs on the floor. However, he’ll not drop his Aspect of Siphon medallion, so you won’t be able to acquire that. The current Fortnite season has seen its fair share of exploits and glitches that have caused players to gain gameplay advantages, whether it’s the buffed range of Chains of Hades or the overpowering Waterbending mythic. However, using these exploits might lead you to a temporary suspension or permanent ban as they violate Fortnite’s terms and conditions.

Fortnite glitch lets you ‘drive’ the Battle Bus ahead of Galactus event – Dexerto
Fortnite glitch lets you ‘drive’ the Battle Bus ahead of Galactus event Epic GamesA new glitch with the Fortnite Battle Bus has been found, letting you ‘drive’ the vehicle towards Galactus ahead of Season 4’s in-game Nexus War event. The hype for Fortnite’s Season 4 live-action event is now starting to build, after Galactus has reappeared outside of the battle royale island ahead of the final showdown on November 30. Nexus War will likely feature all of the superhero characters such as Wolverine, Thor, and others that have recently been added to Fortnite, as they face off against the Marvel supervillain. It was previously hinted that, during the upcoming event, Fortnite players will also need to “join the fight” against Galactus by learning how to drive the Battle Bus and a new glitch has been found allowing players to do exactly that. Fortnite YouTuber Glitch King has revealed a clever trick that players can do to stay in the Battle Bus after the start of a game and ‘drive’ right up to where Galactus currently rests. The content creator explained that after entering any limited-time mode where the Battle Bus paths towards the Marvel character, you need to briefly disconnect your internet connection just before the Bus kicks you out at the end. The Fortnite vehicle will continue to move towards Galactus with your character still inside, giving you an up-close look at the Devourer of Worlds. While it is likely that players will have much more control of the Battle Bus when it does become a feature in the event, it can give players an early feel for what the Nexus War might look like. As of now, it remains unclear what exactly will happen during the Nexus War event but there have been a few Fortnite leaks hinting at yet another Black Hole ending to the in-game event. Fortnite fans won’t have to wait too much longer to find out for sure, however, with only a short while remaining until Season 4 comes to a close and the Nexus War event finally takes place.

Crazy Fortnite glitch is flipping player screens sideways – Dexerto
Crazy Fortnite glitch is flipping player screens sideways Epic GamesIn a pretty bizarre turn of events, an insane Fortnite glitch is flipping player’s screens sideways, and they are not happy. Fortnite is a world with limitless possibilities. You can do everything from run around as Batman or Harley Quinn to tame Raptors all within the one space. If you’re felling nostalgic you can even enable split screen mode in Battle Royale’s Duos and Squads modes, but only when you’re connected together on the same console. What you can’t do, though, is fix this new glitch that is flipping players’ screens horizontally. Fortnite glitch flips player’s screens Players have taken to Reddit to highlight a new bug which is causing screens to flip sideways mid-game for not reason. The post shows one fan going about their Fortnite business before the screen completely flips and locks their, meaning that everything they see is now sideways as opposed to the right way up. While possibly funny the first time it happens, they show that the glitch seems to follow them throughout a whole host of other games. It’s not so amusing anymore, in fact, it’s just plain annoying. A glance through the comments proves that this isn’t just happening to this player. Others have encountered the issue too and are demanding a fix. Read More: Best landing spots in Fortnite Season 6 – What’s more troubling, though, is that several comments note that pro players have also been affected, including Thiago ‘K1nG’ Lapp of FaZe Clan Brazil and ‘Snow’ from Falcons Gaming. There’s been no news of fix so far, and the devs have made no reference to sorting the issue. If one does arise, though, we’ll update this article so that you don’t have to spend the last half of your game playing with your head tilted!

Fortnite giving free V-Bucks to iOS and Mac users affected by Apple ban – Dexerto
Fortnite giving free V-Bucks to iOS and Mac users affected by Apple ban Epic GamesAfter Fortnite was banned on both iOS and Mac devices a few months back due to a dispute with Apple, Epic Games has announced that its beginning to give free bonus V-Bucks to users who bought some of the currency on those respective platforms. [jwplayer y5OnwS0O] Back in August 2020, Apple and Epic Games got into a huge dispute about whether or not the latter could sell V-Bucks in Fortnite without former taking a cut. The disagreement led to the game being removed from both iOS and Mac devices, with no end in sight to the ban. Fortnite has been unsupported on the platforms since, not even receiving Season 4 of the game, which is now set to end in just a few short weeks. Now, Epic Games is giving players from that platform free V-Bucks to make up for the months without updates. Because Mac & iOS are blocked for Fortnite updates, we’re beginning to grant a V-Bucks bonus for players on these platforms — to spend on any platform. The V-Bucks grant is expected to be completed by November 9th. — Fortnite Status (@FortniteStatus) November 6, 2020 According to the Fortnite Status Twitter account, Epic is starting to send out bonus V-bucks to iOS and Mac players. The V-Bucks players get depends on certain criteria including which platform you played on. iOS players will see V-Bucks added to their account based on the current number of unspent V-Bucks that were originally purchased through the App Store. If you played on Mac, on the other hand, you’ll receive a bonus equal to the number of unspent V-Bucks that you purchased through Epic on that platform. For Mac players: Anyone that’s previously played Fortnite on Mac receives a bonus equal to your current balance of unspent V-Bucks purchased from Epic. — Fortnite Status (@FortniteStatus) November 6, 2020 The best part is that, because all your accounts are linked, the V-Bucks can be used on whatever platform you see fit. So if you’re now playing on PS4 or Xbox and you purchased V-Bucks on the Apple platforms, you should be seeing the V-Bucks in your account soon. Epic states it has started rolling out these bonuses and that everyone should see them in their account by November 9, 2020. All in all, it’s nice that Epic is finally giving Apple users some more rewards after Fortnite was removed from the platform. Here’s hoping that the game gets re-added in the near future, although that’s looking like it’s not going to happen any time soon.

Fortnite glitch and leaks show new spectator feature possibly coming soon – Dexerto
Fortnite glitch and leaks show new spectator feature possibly coming soon A new spectator glitch may be added to Fortnite Battle Royale in the near future, according to newfound leaks and an in-game glitch. Players have begun reporting that a bug in their game is causing the playlist menu to glitch and reveal a new button labeled ‘Join as Player.’ According to screenshots of the glitch, the button shows up just above the large ‘Accept’ button that appears when a player has selected a game mode they want to play. Although clicking the button does not actually do anything, the fact that it’s there is quite telling and falls in line with what data miners have recently dug up from game files. Going through the files found in the PC version of the game, prominent data miner ‘lucas7yoshi_’ has found and leaked a file that links the “Join a Player” label of the in-game spectating. Unfortunately, this is the only credible piece of information he’s found regarding the button, so it’s unclear as to how it would work or when it may be added to the game. If this feature is indeed added to Fortnite, it will be interesting to see in what capacity it will actually work, as there already is a feature in the game that allows eliminated players to spectate their teammates. Some are theorizing that it will allow players to spectate matches as “ghosts,” having the ability to freely navigate around and through the map. Others think that this will finally allow players to spectate their friends or favorite streamers without having to be in their game. While both of those seem unlikely as they would be way too overpowered and offer players too much of an advantage, it’s clear that there is already real hype about the feature’s potential. After all, the community has been asking for something like this for a long time now, and it seems as though Epic Games are finally going to deliver.

Fortnite gives update on vaulted items in Creative mode, voice chat and more – Dexerto
Fortnite gives update on vaulted items in Creative mode, voice chat and more Epic Games have released their first ‘state of development’ for Fortnite Creative mode, discussing various features and revealing their plan for vaulted items. In the main battle royale mode, weapons and items are often sent to the ‘vault’ with each new update, taking them out of the loot pool completely, which can sometimes mean your favorite weapon is there one day and gone the next. Players had hoped that weapons in the ‘vault’ would still be made available in Creative mode, so that if they really had an itch for them, there would at least be an alternative. Unfortunately, Epic have ruled out vaulted weapons being made available in Creative mode – although may make some exceptions. “Items will be removed from Creative if they are vaulted in Battle Royale for ongoing tuning or if they are seasonal in nature,” Epic said in their blog post, “We’re working closely with the Battle Royale team to keep as many items available as possible!” One item that has been vaulted from the battle royale mode, but has thankfully been left available in Creative, is the grappler – which is great news for the assault course creators. FaZe Clan’s Tfue praises Epic Games for Fortnite vaults in V7.30 updatePrefabs Finally, improvements will be coming to prefab system. Large prefab shapes will still be added as the game develops, but Epic also wants to give players more flexibility with their creations. Due to time constraints, they haven’t yet added a ‘full content browser’ of pieces that can be used, but estimate this will take them a few months. Once added, players should have a much greater range of choice and will be able to create more intricate, detailed builds. You can read the full blog post on the Epic Games website.

Fortnite gets new emote based on viral TikTok sea shanty – Dexerto
Fortnite gets new emote based on viral TikTok sea shanty Epic GamesFortnite has gotten a brand-new emote based on a viral TikTok sea shanty that recently exploded in popularity, complete with its own version of the song – and it’s safe to say that it’s almost as catchy as the original. If you’re a fan of the viral TikTok sea shanty trend that swept the platform in January 2021, and you’re also a fan of Fortnite, then there’s something tailor-made available in the game just for you. Epic Games has added a new emote into the game called ‘Shanty for a Squad,’ which features a song that sounds remarkably similar to the TikTok sea shanty, made famous by user Nathan Evans. While its inclusion is certainly hilarious, it’s not that surprising. 🎶One day, when the squaddin’ is done, We’ll take our dub and go 🎶Gather round the Item Shop and grab the Shanty for a Squad Emote inspired by @NathanEvanss and #shantyTok! pic.twitter.com/9UCAh531cw — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) March 4, 2021 When Fortnite’s 15.50 patch went live, leakers began posting titles, sounds, and even images of leaked cosmetics for the game, as per usual. This emote caught the eye of some players due to the fact that it’s a complete parody of the now-famous sea shanty. The emote features the character beating a drum and singing the Fortnite version of the song. Of course, it doesn’t share the same exact lyrics as the viral track, either due to copyright reasons or because Epic just wanted to make their own Fortnite version of the song – but the result is still hilarious. What’s even more perfect is the fact that the emote can be used in conjunction with other players, synching up with them in the process, so that you can all sing along together. The Shanty for a Squad emote is available in the game right now for a limited time and will only set players back a mere 500 V-Bucks – which is a pretty affordable price, especially for those fans who fell in love with the original song. Unfortunately, it’s unknown how long it’ll be available for, so fans should go and pick it up as soon as they possibly can.

Fortnite getting new Mutant Containment Truck vehicle soon – Dexerto
Fortnite getting new Mutant Containment Truck vehicle soon Epic GamesNew vehicles known as “Mutant Containment Trucks” should be popping up soon on the Fortnite map during Season 4, and they’ll be crucial for completing the latest Battle Pass. Fortnite Season 4 is in full effect and it’s absolutely filled to the brim with Marvel Comics characters and themes, including plenty of cosmetics and skins for players to collect. One of the crown jewel skins of Season 4 that everyone will be trying to get their hands on has to be the Wolverine skin, available as an unlockable reward in the Battle Pass. The challenge for Week 5 tasks players with finding so-called “Mutant Containment Trucks,” which are new vehicles scattered around the map. Exactly what is a “Mutant Containment Truck” you might ask? As the name suggests, they’re most likely some type of vehicle designed to nullify or eliminate hostile mutant humans, as we would find in the world of X-Men. Some government agency or corporation always seems to be coming up with schemes to get rid of the mutant “problem” in the X-Men comics, and these trucks could be an homage to this theme. Since they are vehicles, it’s highly likely that we’ll be able to find them where other cars and trucks tend to congregate, like roads, parking lots, and other points of interest. As for whether or not these Mutant Containment Trucks will be driveable, that’s still up in the air. But Fortnite has introduced other, comic themed vehicles like the insanely-powerful Iron Man Whiplash Car for Season 4 already.

Usually they are the first to inform the community of new events or upcoming changes to the map, but they’ve been silent on the matter as players simply discovered it upon loaded up the map when Christmas Day rolled around. Fortnite Gaming Legends: All confirmed and leaked skins coming soon – Dexerto
Fortnite Gaming Legends: All confirmed and leaked skins coming soon Nintendo / Epic Games / MicrosoftFortnite Season 5 has introduced the Gaming Legends Series, bringing some of the most iconic characters to the battle. Here’s everything you need to know about it. Fans initially thought an appearance from The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda would be the biggest moment of the newly-launched Fortnite Season 5, but they were quickly proven wrong as Epic Games surprise-released a skin based on God of War’s Kratos. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, Kratos belongs to a new collection of skins and cosmetics called the Gaming Legends Series, suggesting there are many more crossovers to come; in fact, it’s already been confirmed that Halo’s Master Chief is the next addition. Below, we’ve listed all of the currently available Gaming Legends Series characters, as well as any rumors or leaks that emerge throughout Season 5. We’ll keep this list updated, so check back regularly. Fortnite Gaming Legends skins Kratos (God of War) The first entry into the Gaming Legends Series of skins is Spartan warrior Kratos, who debuted in the original God Of War game on PS2 way back in 2005. After multiple sequels across various platforms, the flagship PlayStation franchise received a critically-acclaimed (and, some would argue, much-needed) revamp on PS4 in 2018, which renewed interest in the series. Kratos was added to the Fortnite Season 5 store on December 4, 2020. As well as a pretty epic skin, the character comes with his own custom pickaxe, glider, and back bling, which are detailed below: Kratos Skin: 1500 V-Bucks – Leviathan Axe: 1000 V-Bucks – Guardian Shield Glider: 800 V-Bucks – Mimir Back Bling: Only available as part of The Oathbreaker set – All of these cosmetics can be purchased together as part of The Oathbreaker bundle for 2200 V-Bucks. If you’re a PlayStation player, you’ll be able to get a special style too. Play a game with the Kratos skin equipped on the PS4 or PS5 and you’ll receive an Armored Kratos version after the game is done. Master Chief (Halo) The second entry into the Gaming Legends Series of skins is a true gaming icon, Master Chief, who first appeared in Halo: Combat Evolved on Xbox in 2001. After a number of rumors and leaks among the community, Master Chief was finally confirmed by Epic Games and added to the Fortnite Season 5 store on December 11, 2020. As well as an epic Master Chief skin, the character comes with its own custom pickaxe, glider, and emote, which are all detailed below: Master Chief Skin: 1,500 V-Bucks – Gravity Hammer Pickaxe: 800 V-Bucks – UNSC Pelican Glider: 1,200 V-Bucks – Lil’ Warthog Emote: 500 V-Bucks – All of these cosmetics can be bought together as part of the Master Chief bundle for 2600 V-Bucks. If you’re an Xbox player, you’ll be able to get a special style too. Play a game with the Master Chief skin equipped on the Xbox Series X|S and you’ll receive a Matte Black version after the game is done. Fortnite Gaming Legends series: Nintendo skin coming? With Fortnite skins based on Sony and Microsoft exclusive franchises, all eyes are now on Nintendo, who have historically shown reluctance to feature their original games and characters on other platforms. However, if any game could convince them to do this, it’s probably Fortnite, which has seen some of the world’s biggest franchises including Marvel and Star Wars jump on board for some epic crossover action. The most obvious choice for a Nintendo skin seems to be Samus Aran from Metroid, with Fortnite fans almost unanimously agreeing that she should be the next addition to the Gaming Legends Series. Epic Games promised to bring “even more hunters from the realities beyond” to Fortnite Season 5 following The Mandalorian’s debut. Samus is a bounty hunter, so it makes perfect sense to bring her to The Island to take part in the newly-added Bounties. There is one potential problem with a skin based on Samus, though. Her suit of armor features a built-in arm cannon, which wouldn’t quite work when it comes to Fortnite’s weapon-swapping action. A simple way around this could be to alter the design of the suit, although Nintendo may not agree to do that. Instead, they could go with Zero Suit Samus, which would arguably fit in with the visuals of Fortnite better anyway. Fortnite Gargoyle locations for the ‘Dance in front of Different Gargoyles’ Fortnitemares challenge – Dexerto
Fortnite Gargoyle locations for the ‘Dance in front of Different Gargoyles’ Fortnitemares challenge One of the more difficult tasks to come out of the first set of ‘Fortnitemares’ challenges in Fortnite Battle Royale requires players to dance in front of different gargoyles. In addition to a number Halloween-themed changes that came with the V6.20 update on October 24, gargoyles were added to a number of locations on the map. While this might seem to be a fairly minor change, the stone-faced monsters are actually of vital importance if you want to complete every challenge in the limited time Fortnitemares event. You’ll need to find a total of five gargoyles and dance in front of them, using your emote of choice, to complete this particular challenge. Spooky music can be heard whenever you’re close to one of the gargoyles, but you can cut down on your search time by using our map of gargoyle locations: @Owenwillis14 on Twitter has told us that another can be found “on the mountain in between Tilted and Dusty), it should be more than enough to help you complete the challenge and earn another cool Fortnitemares cosmetic.Read More: Everything you need to know about Fortnitemares 2018: Challenges, Deadfire skin, Cube Monsters, Dark Engine and more – As is always the case with any Fortnite challenge, make sure that you complete the game before returning to the lobby. If you leave before being eliminated, or getting the Victory Royale, your progress might not saved. When you’re finished with the first set of Fortnitemares challenges, why not take a look at the Week 5, Season 6 challenges and how to complete them.

Fortnite players slam The Game Awards for Best Ongoing Game snub – Dexerto
Fortnite players slam The Game Awards for Best Ongoing Game snub Epic Games, LEGOFortnite was nominated for Best Ongoing Game at the 2023 Game Awards, and players can’t believe Cyberpunk 2077 took home the trophy. This year’s Game Awards featured more than its fair share of surprises. PlayStation announced free DLC for God of War: Ragnarok. Xbox unveiled a Blade game from Deathloop developer Arkane Lyon. And Hideo Kojima brought Jordan Peele out on stage during the OD game presentation. However, the awards part of the ceremony quickly became a point of contention online. Winners were only allotted 30 seconds to deliver their speeches. Plus, many awards were given away from the main stage, meaning several developers couldn’t share acceptance speeches at all. A few snubs managed to shock the audience, too. For example, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 didn’t win any trophies despite receiving seven nominations. Fortnite fans were especially taken aback when learning who beat it for the Best Ongoing Game award. Fortnite players can’t believe it got snubbed at The Game Awards The Game Awards’ Best Ongoing category recognizes games “for outstanding development of ongoing content that evolves the player experience over time.” Five different titles were nominated for the 2023 ceremony – Apex Legends, Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy XIV, Fortnite, and Genshin Impact. Cyberpunk 2077 won the top prize, thanks in no small part to its acclaimed Phantom Liberty expansion and 2.0 update. But Fortnite faithful argue the Epic game deserved the award since the game has enjoyed its best year to date. Popular Fortnite account HYPEX called attention to the snub in a recent Twitter post, “Woke up to Fortnite losing the ‘Best Ongoing Game’ to a game that shouldn’t even be there, after having their best year ever and literally proving what ‘Ongoing Game’ means…” Others in the comments agreed this particular Game Awards trophy should’ve gone to Fortnite. One person lamented, “Fortnite was so robbed it is obvious,” while posting a screenshot showing Cyberpunk 2077’s lower peak player count on Steam. Several more people in the thread shared similar data. Another Fortnite-centric news page posted, “I’m just convinced they’re never going to win one again simply because the majority doesn’t want Fortnite to win.” Reads a reply from someone else, “Even if you don’t play Fortnite.. from a purely objective standpoint.. Fortnite not winning is ABSURD.” Fortnite has had quite an exceptional year, with its player count steadily climbing. Season OG was a massive success that delivered in spades. The Big Bang event drummed up plenty of hype, even beyond the Fortnite community. Now LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival are primed to bring in huge audiences in their own right.

Fortnite Galactus skin leaked ahead of Season 4 finale event – Dexerto
Fortnite Galactus skin leaked ahead of Season 4 finale event Epic GamesJust days ahead of Fortnite’s Galactus live event on December 1, data-miners have leaked a highly anticipated Galactus skin without spoiling event details. Galactus, the “Devourer of Worlds,” has been approaching Fortnite’s island and his unavoidable arrival is finally nigh. In a one-time-only, live Season 4 “Nexus War” finale on December 1, Marvel’s world-eater and Epic Games’ player base will collide. While fans currently know that the gigantic, cosmic entity is making his way to the Island and that something will be happening on the aforementioned date at 4 p.m. ET, few details are available. Fortunately for impatient aficionados of the battle royale, dataminers have leaked a Galactus skin that should be coming to the game’s shop with a bundle at some point. Fortnite Galactus skin leaked While it’s unclear exactly how similar this skin will be to the teased images of a gargantuan, shadowy Galactus shared by Epic themselves, the skin most certainly presents an imposing figure. Dressed in glistening jet black and red, the skin features regal, villainous armor bookended by chunky boots and a massive helmet. Eagle-eyed fans might even notice a particularly smug smile sitting across the infamous villain’s purple face. It remains uncertain if this skin will be available for purchase and, if so, when it will be. But leakers like ‘ximton’ have discovered files indicating it could be part of a bundle. Still, in order to save fans from leaks, dataminers have remained largely quiet about specific event details. But Epic Games have tried to keep things on the low, only confirming that “the fate of all Reality lies in the balance.” As mentioned earlier, the finale event begins on Tuesday, December 1 at 4 p.m. ET (1 p.m. PT, 9 p.m. GMT) and its exact duration is unknown. Epic have advised players to download the latest update (14.60) and Houseparty (which is integrated with Fortnite to allow for live video chat). Fortnite x Star Wars event at Risky Reels – everything there is to know – Dexerto
Fortnite x Star Wars event at Risky Reels – everything there is to know Fortnite Battle Royale players will soon be able to sit back and enjoy some Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker at Risky Reels, but is anything else happening for the crossover event? The event was first being sounded out by leakers under the codename of ‘Galileo’ but it has since been revealed by Epic Games that construction was being done at Risky Reels to prepare for something very different. The huge screen will finally be put to good use as some brand new footage from the next Star Wars movie is set to premiere on the big screen at the drive-in cinema point of interest, with players being rewarded for attending as well. Let’s take a look at everything you need to know to watch the event and reap the rewards. Construction started to get underway at Risky Reels earlier in December, where players first noticed that trucks they had never seen before were appearing nearby. These vehicles, which had featured in several previous leaks from data miners Lucas7yoshi and HYPEX, were just the start, but nobody knew at that time what was going to come from it all. It was later revealed by Epic Games that they had secured a crossover event like no other with Disney to show a never-before-seen segment from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. There have been similar events take place in Fortnite previously, with the closest thing to this being Marshmello performing live at Pleasant Park back in Chapter 1 – which attracted a then record number of concurrent players. They’ll be hoping for similar results this time. Fortnite Risky Reels event details When will it start? The huge screen at Risky Reels will start rolling the footage on December 14, just five days before the worldwide premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Players on the day are going to have to land at Risky Reels on time to get a spot. Below you can see when the event starts for you, depending on where you live. Doors open, according to promotional material, 30 minutes before these start times. 11am PT – 2pm EST – 1pm CT – 7pm BST – 6am AEST (December 15) – Fortnite x Star Wars event reward Everybody attending the crossover event is going to be handed one of the best gliders the game has to offer. If you weren’t already convinced by the idea of coming along to watch some Star Wars, maybe this new TIE Whisper Glider will tempt you. All you have to do to get it is take part in the event. How is it going to look? It has taken some time for the leaked plans of Risky Reels to play out in-game, but we now have what appears to be a final picture of what the event venue is going to look like – following the v11.30 update on December 12. Posters have been stuck around the Fortnite map advertising the crossover and finally now the stage seems to be set. The screen at Risky Reels has been replaced by what looks like a projector. Whether or not the clip will be played just inside the circle or projected into the sky remains to be seen, but it looks like there’s a lot to look forward to for this event. So, there you have it! Take part and you will be given an exclusive look at the new Star Wars movie and a brand new cosmetic item. Not a bad deal, right?

Fortnite leaks and rumors hint at return of iconic Marvel villain – Dexerto
Fortnite leaks and rumors hint at return of iconic Marvel villain Epic Games/MarvelFortnite leaks and rumors point to the possible return of Galactus, the Marvel villain who last showed his face in December 2020. The Marvel-themed Nexus War concluded with a bang, as the late 2020 event saw Galactus enter the fray at the end of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4. While the supervillain didn’t stick around for long, he caused enough trouble that forced players to stop him from destroying the Island. Galactus hasn’t appeared in-game since then, but a recent roadmap leak suggests a new Marvel season could arrive in August 2024, though fans and content creators expressed doubt, the roadmap’s Billie Eilish skin has since been proven correct. Now, a new wrinkle has surfaced to further support the possibility of more Marvel-centric content. Egyptian_Leaker and Rezztro recently comprised a list of all the NPC dialogue added to Fortnite’s 29.40 update. One Anwar line sticks out when asking about the Endless Stars: “Eons ago and very far away, a hungry beast consumed star after star to warm its belly.” Some creators and fans posit the Anwar dialogue represents a reference to Fortnite’s overarching big bad, The Nothing. However, others argue the line reads as more of a Galactus nod, given the Marvel character’s “Devourer of Worlds” nickname. Neither Epic Games nor Marvel has announced whether another major event collaboration is in the works. At present, Epic has its hands full with wrapping up the Greek-themed Chapter 5 Season 2, which ends on May 24. Season 3 will drop on the same day, meaning the dates could line up to allow for the rumored Marvel season to arrive in time for the start of Season 4.

The world of Futurama has arrived to the Chapter 4 Season 3 Island with new content for players to experience in the latest Fortnite v25.20 patch. While fans have long speculated about a potential crossover, they are ecstatic to finally see it come into fruition. Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite x Futurama event. The weapon fires infinite plasma rays, but goes into a cooldown for a while due to overheating. Furthermore, a new emote called Share The Wealth was added to Fortnite not long ago, and some players believe it is a reimagining of the popular ‘Take My Money’ meme from Futurama. Data miners claim Epic cunningly hid the easter egg for the collaboration with the emote and caught people off guard with the big announcement. Are there any Futurama quests or free rewards? The answer to that is No. There are no special quests or free rewards tied to the Futurama crossover event. Apart from the cosmetic items, the mythic Raygun and Bender NPC, no other content has been added to the game with the latest update. Fortnite Galactus event date and start time confirmed: In-game countdown – Dexerto
Fortnite Galactus event date and start time confirmed: In-game countdown Marvel/Epic GamesThe date for the end of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4 event has been revealed, and it looks like there might be a slight delay in store for the following season. [jwplayer so0eN9Pk] When Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4 got underway, all the focus was put on the Marvel heroes and villains who had taken up residency on the battle royale island. It was Thor who, ahead of the season, warned Fortnite players that Galactus – the Devourer Of Worlds – was on his way to try and destroy what Epic Games had built. Ever since, the supervillain has been lingering in the sky, waiting to strike. That attack is set to come in the typical end of season event, where the Marvel characters will likely do battle. The date of this cinematic event has now been revealed, and it looks like this current season is set to stick around just a little longer than planned. As a number of Fortnite leakers noted, the countdown to the event hit the live servers on November 21, with a countdown clock appearing in the lobby. As of writing, the clock is counting down to Tuesday, December 1st at 9:10 pm GMT/4:10 pm ET/1:10 pm PT/10:10 pm CET. That would be quite late for the typical cinematic events for European players, but it does make it a little easier to attend for those in the United States. This time could very well change if some last-minute hiccup appears for Epic, however, leakers have pointed out that the files for the cinematic event have been added to the game and that the first update for the next season is already being tested. So, it should be fine for now. The countdown is now In-Game!! The event will take place on December 1st at 9:10pm GMT!! (4:10pm ET) This also confirms that the next season is getting delayed, as I already predicted a few weeks ago. 👀 pic.twitter.com/ChNkF8g25o — Shiina (@ShiinaBR) November 21, 2020 As for when the new season will start, ShiinaBR suggested that it should get underway on December 3 – two days after the live event concludes. That makes sense given that December 3rd would be a Thursday, which has typically been the main day for Fortnite updates. If anything changes between now and then, you’ll be able to find the latest news and updates on Dexerto – especially in our Galactus event hub, which can be found here.

Fortnite: Full map showing every landing location of mysterious helicopter – Dexerto
Fortnite: Full map showing every landing location of mysterious helicopter Epic GamesFortnite fans have continued to notice the large helicopter that has been flying around the map for weeks now, with players left wondering what the aircraft is doing, and where it is going, as it moves around the map throughout Season 8. Epic Games are well-known for including new storyline aspects and mysterious items to the game in an attempt to keep the title fresh, while also progressing the game forward with the overarching story of each season. While Season 8 was introduced with the inclusion of pirates and a massive volcano, one strange story arc has kept Fortnite fans guessing as to its meaning, as a massive helicopter continues to fly around the map. Where is Fortnite’s helicopter, and where has it been? The army-style helicopter has been flying around Fortnite for weeks now, but is currently parked up on a hill west of Dusty Divot. This is the twelfth location the helicopter has visited since it’s appearance in Fortnite, originally parking up just north of the volcano, before flying around the outside of the map to its current location. Fortnite fans are currently unsure if this is the final landing spot for the heavy-duty aircraft, but with the vehicle already traversing across the map, it’s likely that we will see it on the move again soon. You can view a full map, created by Reddit user /u/Seawod, showing where it has been below. What is Fortnite’s helicopter doing? Right now, Fortnite’s helicopter doesn’t appear to be doing very much. While the helicopter can be heard flying around at random intervals, it seems to just move from one location to another and park up. Some have started to question whether the chopper is linked the dig sites that have also started popping up across the map, as the helicopter is currently sitting at Dusty Divot, where a strange anchor was found on April 2. What does the Fortnite helicopter mean for the Season 8 storyline? What the mysterious helicopter means for the overarching Fortnite Season 8 storyline is unclear, but fans have some theories regarding what they think the chopper will mean for Season 8. One suggestion is that the helicopter is a hint towards a possible military theme in Season 9, with the helicopters scouting the island before infantry rolls in to take control. The most popular theory is that the helicopter and its pilot are hunting for legendary Fortnite items from seasons past, such as Hop Rocks, Rifts and fragments of the meteorite that crashed at the end of Season 3.

Fortnite: Full list of all confirmed in-game bugs and glitches and their workarounds, including SIX issues with X-4 Stormwing – Dexerto
Fortnite: Full list of all confirmed in-game bugs and glitches and their workarounds, including SIX issues with X-4 Stormwing While Fortnite Battle Royale is experiencing unprecedented popularity, no one can doubt that it has its share of flaws, especially with all of the bugs and glitches currently plaguing the game. With the recent start of Season 7 and the addition of numerous items into the game, the number of in-game issues has flared up considerably. Just the new X-4 Stormwing plane itself has six distinguishable bugs that are causing issues for players who are either riding on it or are look up at it from the ground. The new Zipline has its fair share of glitches as well, three main ones to be exact, which have led to many players complaining about the current state of it in the game. With all of these new additions, it’s hard to imagine there not being so many bugs, which has begged the question from many as to why the developers at Epic Games don’t focus on resolving the issues before they force things into the game too early. Fortnite: Full list of confirmed in-game bugs and glitches that still need to be fixed – Dexerto
Fortnite: Full list of confirmed in-game bugs and glitches that still need to be fixed Despite all of the new content that has been added in Season 7 of Fortnite Battle Royale, there are still numerous bugs and glitches that can be found in-game. A majority of the issues lie with two of the major additions made at the start of Season 7 – the X-4 Stormwing and Zipline. The Stormwing is a weaponized plane that allows squads of players to fly around and wreak havoc, while the Zipline is a magnet found around the map that connects mountain peaks together and allows players to fast travel from one hilltop to another. Overall, there are currently nine confirmed bugs between the two new items – six glitches with the Stormwing and three with the Zipline, and they’ve been in the game for a few weeks now. With there being so many issues in-game, especially with the Stormwing and Zipline, it begs the question as to why the developers at Epic Games don’t focus more on resolving these bugs before forcing things into Fortnite too early. That being said, the developers have at least confirmed the presence and existence of a lot of these bugs and are hard at work investigating them and looking for fixes, although whether or not these fixes will be found, and when, remains unclear. Here is a full list of all confirmed bugs and glitches, and any potential workarounds that players can use to temporarily avoid the issues. X-4 Storming While spectating, you may notice players appear in the skydiving stance while traversing the map. – Player models do not replicate properly when switching between teammates while spectating. This may cause models to appear to jump around or fall off the wings while on the Stormwing. – Player models appear to detach from the Stormwing when scrubbing replays. If put in the Down But Not Out state while riding in the Stormwing, teammates can appear in the skydiving state. – The Stormwing can be seen in low level of detail when its speed increases. This can hide the Boost gauge on mobile devices. – Using Custom Keybindings for movement can disrupt the Stormwing’s controls. – Stormwing health bars can only be seen when in close proximity to the plane. – – Zipline You may lose the ability to sprint if you emote while riding on a Zipline. – You may notice inconsistencies with player character models while on Ziplines. – You may sometimes fall from the Zipline under certain network conditions or if structures are built close to a Zipline while a player is on it. – – Scoreboard The scoreboard does not always accurately update and display the proper elimination count. – There are instances in which the scoreboard will not display anything when attempting to view it. – – Forced direction walking after editing a structure Confirming an edit while holding WASD (or other directional inputs) will force a player to continue walking in that direction. – Workaround: Find another structure to edit, confirm the edit when not holding a directional input, confirm that edit. – – Increase in PC Crashes We’re investigating reports of an increase in PC crashes, primarily on Intel drivers. If you’re experencing crashing please update to the latest driver version which is v25.20.100.6323. – Workaround: Update your drivers to version v25.20.100.6323 or higher – – Auto shooting when using a gamepad Players who use a controller can sometimes be put into a state in which they continuously shoot or swing their pickaxe. This only happens in specific situations. – Enter Battle Royale – Begin any match – Land in any part of the map – Gather materials – Get any trap – Press and hold any of the build button (LB, LT, RB or RT) while quickly switching to trap then weapons. – Players must specifically press and hold any of the build button (LB, LT, RB or RT) while quickly switching to trap then a weapon in exact order – Does not happen with a keyboard, but happens on PC if a controller is connected to it. – – Workaround: Switching to build and building any structure cancels the auto-fire – Aim Assist not working properly against vehicles and the Mounted Turret When using Aim Assist against vehicles and the Mounted turret, the crosshair is pulled towards the bottom of the vehicles/Turret rather than focusing on the player occupying it. – Music for certain emotes not playing The music for certain emotes is not playing on the 1st usage. The music should play properly upon subsequent uses of affected emotes. The Worm – Dance Moves – Drop the Bass – Default – – Workaround: Use the emote once, then use it again – – The music for certain emotes is not playing on the 1st usage. The music should play properly upon subsequent uses of affected emotes. – Crosshairs blacked for certain Outfits while aiming Crosshairs may be blocked when using certain Outfits while aiming down sights. We’re aware of this issue and working towards a fix. – – Source – Fortnite Community Page on Trello

How to get money from massive Fortnite FTC refund – Dexerto
How to get money from massive Fortnite FTC refund Epic GamesThrough a settlement with the FTC, Epic Games must pay $245 million in refunds – here’s everything Fortnite players eligible for a refund should know. The Federal Trade Commission accused Epic of unlawfully collecting data from children and deceiving millions of gamers of all ages into unintentionally making in-game purchases. Epic and the FTC have since come to an agreement, which will see the Fortnite maker pay a $520 million settlement. Of that figure, $275 million will settle the trade commission’s claim that Epic violated the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act by gathering information from Fortnite users under the age of 13 without obtaining parental consent. The remaining $245 million will be reserved to refund consumers manipulated by the developer’s use of “dark patterns” to trick players into unintentionally buying in-game goods. How to know if you’re eligble for the Fortnite FTC refund Today, December 19, the Federal Trade Commision detailed who it plans on making refunds available to when the “refund program” launches. The guidelines read as follows: Parents whose children made an unauthorized credit card purchase in the Epic Games Store between January 2017 and November 2018 – Fortnite players who were charged in-game currency (V-Bucks) for unwanted in-game items (such as cosmetics, llamas, or battle passes) between January 2017 and September 2022 – Fortnite players whose accounts were locked between January 2017 and September 2022 after disputing unauthorized charges with their credit card companies. – For now, there’s nothing more for elegible consumers to do until more details about the program surface. The FTC will update its Fortnite-dedicated page when additional information comes in. Users can also sign up for email updates regarding the refund program. There’s presently no date or time for the program’s launch, nor is it known how long it may take for involved parties to iron out the specifics.

Fortnite: Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor Alfonso Ribeiro suing Epic Games for using Carlton Dance as emote – Dexerto
Fortnite: Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor Alfonso Ribeiro suing Epic Games for using Carlton Dance as emote Alfonso Ribeiro / Epic GamesEpic Games have put many imaginative homages into Fortnite in the form of emotes, skins, loading screens, and more, but the inclusion of those renditions have brought forth legal actions aimed at the developers. The addition of dance emotes into the popular battle royale have given the developers a lot of grief; the distinct callbacks have attracted lawsuits from 2 Milly and now from an actor who was the inspiration for one of the more popular emotes in the game. Co-star of the mega-nostalgic show Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Alfonso Ribeiro, feels that the iconic dance move that made Carlton so loved and remembered is being wrongfully exploited by the developers of Fortnite. In documents acquired by TMZ, the actor most notable for playing Carlton in the 90’s hit show has filed documents that call out the inclusion of the “Fresh” emote in game. “It is widely recognized that Mr. Ribeiro’s likeness and intellectual property have been misappropriated by Epic Games in the most popular video game currently in the world, Fortnite,” said David Hecht, Ribeiro’s attorney of Pierce Bainbridge Beck Price & Hecht LLP. Read more: Fortnite: Epic Games reveal EVERY change coming to the X-4 Stormwing plane in v7.10 update – The name of the dance and distinct movements are self-evident echoes of the show and character it’s based on. Ribeiro was listed along with others in 2 Milly’s claim against Epic Games that noted the company’s pattern of “exploiting African-American talent in particular in Fortnite by copying their dances and movements.” Now it seems that Ribeiro is also seeking any potential damages that can come from stealing and profiting off a dance move. Although some say these kind of cases might lead to nowhere, the decisions that come out of these claims will set a precedent for many similar suits in the future.

Fortnite: Four key tips to improve your shooting accuracy while using a controller – Dexerto
Fortnite: Four key tips to improve your shooting accuracy while using a controller One of the two main ways to currently play Fortnite Battle Royale is using a controller, which can be done either on console or by plugging it in to a PC. Either way, playing with a controller is not something anyone can learn overnight, especially with all of the advancements that Epic Games have made for it, first with the addition of Builder Pro and then custom key binds. While some popular controller players, such as 100 Thieves streamer NICKMERCS or Ghost Gaming pro Aydan, are known for their strong ability in keeping pace with their mouse and keyboard counterparts, very few can say they’re at that level. Thus, Reddit user ‘Strikerfromthemoon’ has posted four solid tips that controller player should keep in mind if they’re trying to improve their shooting accuracy. Even with aim assist, shooting continue to be the weakest point in many controller players’ gameplay. Many are much more proficient at building than shooting, especially since so much has been added to the game to help with building faster and more efficiently. The first advice that the Redditer gives is for player to stop taking “flick” shots, which are essentially shots that players take while flicking their aim at an enemy rather than focusing it. These type of shots are very hard to execute with a controller, and offer no real reward other than a fancy looking elimination. The next tip is to limit jump shotting, which is not as effective on controller as it is on M+KB. The analog stick’s small range of movement hinders the player’s ability to accurately aim while jumpshotting, especially if they’re playing on a lower sensitivity. The third and fourth tips both deal with taking advantage of the strong aim assist that exists for controller players. Players will do much better if they take snapshots, which involves hovering their crosshair close to an enemy player’s head and quickly aiming in and shooting. It’s essential to shoot as soon as the aim-down-sights button is pressed, because that is the moment where the aim assist is more likely to have dragged the cursor to the head of the enemy player. Similarly, players can use a technique known as snapshotting, which is the act of taking snapshots in closer engagements by carefully using ADS and aim assist to hit shots. This sort of method can turn a Hand Cannon into a shotgun close range. All in all, these tips seem like a good idea to keep in mind when working on your shooting in Fortnite. With so much emphasis placed on building, and rightfully so, players often forget that just being an amazing spam-builder can’t win gunfights, and matches, on its own.

Fortnite: Four ways to balance the X-4 Stormwing – Dexerto
Fortnite: Four ways to balance the X-4 Stormwing While most of the Fortnite community is currently rejoicing over the fact that the Infinity Blade was vaulted, many are still upset about another aspect of the game that was recently introduced. The X-4 Stormwing was added to Fortnite at the beginning of Season 7 and while players were initially gawking over the insane plays the vehicle brought, the honeymoon period is now over and people are calling for changes. Epic Games have announced that the damage players take upon having their planes destroyed will be increased with the v7.10 update, but that alone might not be enough to truly balance this Fortnite vehicle. Here are our top four ways the X-4 Stormwing can be changed to limit its overall effectiveness. 1. Remove the turretsThere’s nothing quite like being in the middle of a build fight or even just running across the map and having a Stormwing immediately start raining down bullets on you with little ways to counter it. Every other vehicle in Fortnite is simply used to traverse the map while a teammate fires from the passenger seat, and there’s no reason the Stormwing can’t be the same. It would still be the fastest way to get across the map, making it great for rotations, but it would prevent the plane from being such a dominant force in games. 2. Add a fuel tankWhile the other vehicles in Fortnite don’t currently have fuel tanks, it might be time to rethink this concept. This is especially true when you consider that players frequently fly the Stormwings around in circles during the late-game to wait out the circle, as showcased during the NA Winter Royale. Adding in a limited fuel tank will prevent players from being able to fly the plane around endlessly and add a bit more strategy to the equation. The concept is already used by PUBG and would certainly be a welcomed addition to the game. 3. Add damage when flying into structuresBeing able to fly through structures with no penalty at all is far too strong of a feature to be allowed to stay in the game. If structures can be instantly destroyed,it should follow that the plane either be wholly destroyed or at least significantly damaged when crashing into something. Whether this change would be just damage or straight destruction, adding this feature at all will once again force players to be more strategic with their use of the plane. Removing the reckless element of the Stormwing will go a long way to balancing this vehicle. 4. Just vault it This would perhaps be the cheap getaway option, but it’s an option nonetheless. Just as Epic did with the Infinity Blade, vaulting the Stormwing could be a quick fix for the plan to allow themselves some time to re-evaluate things and come up with some potential fixes.

Fortnitemares 2024: Leaks, rumors & everything we know about Fortnite’s Halloween event – Dexerto
Fortnitemares 2024: Leaks, rumors & everything we know about Fortnite’s Halloween event Epic Games / DexertoFortnitemares is one of the most anticipated annual events in Fortnite and it’s set to return for another edition in 2024. Every year, Fortnite hosts several in-game events, but among the most thrilling is the Halloween-themed Fortnitemares. As ever, it is expected to be jam-packed with all-new spooky crossovers, cosmetics, quests, and other goodies. Here’s everything we know about this year’s Fortnitemares as it draws closer. When does Fortnitemares 2024 begin? Fortnitemares 2024 starts October 15, 2024, in Fortnite, though this is subject to official confirmation from Epic Games. It was leaked by trusted leaker HYPEX, who stated it would launch with the release of the 30.40 patch update. It typically begins mid-October and runs through to the end of the month, lasting around two weeks. Despite no exact start time being given, judging by previous years, it is likely to kick off at around 6 AM PT/ 9 AM ET / 2 PM BST. Everything coming in the Fortnitemares event Epic has not yet announced that the Fortnitemares event is coming, but as it has been released every year since 2017, it’s all but confirmed. Every year the Battle Royale island map receives an overhaul of fog and plenty of Halloween decorations to get players in the spirit. It is set to include its own Halloween-themed quests, NPCs, skins, cosmetics, new and returning classic weapons, and of course crossovers from the biggest horror franchises. Leaker Wensoing has also dug deep into the game files and discovered that there will be an upcoming Boss NPC on the map this year. So far not many details have been revealed, other than it has the codename initials “PB” and “will drop a Legendary Wood Stake Shotgun, Legendary Pumpkin Launcher, and Flowberry Fizz.” All Halloween crossover rumors With Fortnite being so focused on its Marvel-themed Absolute Doom season, there haven’t been as many leaks and rumors as fans of the event had hoped for. However, we’ll continue to update you as more are revealed. Anti-Venom skin With Iron Spider and Black Cat introduced in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 as new standalone skins in the Item Shop, the addition of another Outfit from the world of Spider-Man doesn’t seem too far-fetched. Fall Guys leaker FGLeaksAndInfo has highlighted that several Marvel Collabs already existing in Fortnite has been added to Fall Guys. But, one that isn’t in the Battle Royale is the Anti-Venom skin, which has led many to suspect that this may be added for Fortnitemares 2024. Friday the 13th In June, HYPEX also revealed that the official Twitter/X account for the iconic movie’s main character Jason Voorhees replied to a tweet regarding what collabs should come to Fortnite. According to the leaker, the popular morning show Good Day New York previously stated that Paramount would be announcing that Jason Voorhees would be coming to Fortnite at some point. With Fortnitemares 2024 just around the corner, then it seems likely that he could be introduced as part of the Halloween event. Saw Leaker Xgamer360 has spotted references to the Saw franchise in Fortnite code, suggesting Billy the Puppet could debut during the spooky festivities. If true, this would mark Fortnite’s first collaboration in the long-running horror series from Lionsgate. It’s currently unclear if the supposed crossover will include a Billy skin or other noteworthy Saw iconography. LEGO Fortnite Halloween event A mysterious LEGO Fortnite Halloween trailer was leaked by creator Crafty Plays LEGO Fortnite, which he stated “fell into my DM’s.” It starts with bold text stating: “This October, prepare to be haunted.” It then showcases a few in-game screenshots of new areas and a new strange spider-type creature for the upcoming update. The short clip just ends by announcing it is coming soon to LEGO Islands, with no further details being announced. While you wait for Fortnitemares 2024 to land into Fortnite, check out our guides on all leaked skins and cosmetics coming in Chapter 5 Season 4, and every free skin and cosmetic you can claim.

Fortnite founders to receive more exclusive cosmetic items, according to leaks – Dexerto
Fortnite founders to receive more exclusive cosmetic items, according to leaks Data miners have found and leaked information that points to ‘Fortnite Founders’ receiving more exclusive content in Battle Royale. For those unfamiliar with the term, Fortnite Founders refers to anyone who has purchased the Save the World mode of the game, since that came before the much more popular battle royale mode. Epic Games have periodically rewarded those players by giving them exclusive cosmetic items to use in the BR, and that appears to be the case yet again, according to the latest series of leaks. After the release of the v7.30 game update on January 29, prominent YouTuber and Fortnite data miner @HYPEX found a new glider and pickaxe in the game files that appear to be designated for Fortnite Founders. The glider features a camouflage design with metallic blue stripes running across, while the pickaxe has a neon pink color scheme and it’s shape is similar to other traditional pickaxes. There is very little information available about these two new items other than their leaked images, as their names, in-game descriptions, and designated rarities have not yet been discovered. As for their release date, both files are marked as “TBD,” meaning that they’ll likely not be released in the upcoming week but could be released sometime in the near future. Of course all of this is based on leaks and should not be treated as anything more than speculation until Epic Games officially confirm and/or announce this promotion. If it does turn out to be legitimate, it would not be the first time that Epic have rewarded Fortnite Founders with exclusive cosmetic items. Earlier in 2018, those who purchased the Save the World mode received the Rose Team Leader and Warpaint outfit skins along with their respective back-blings – Skirmish and Pursuit.

Fortnite forced to disable emotes in MLK event mode to prevent mockery – Dexerto
Fortnite forced to disable emotes in MLK event mode to prevent mockery Epic GamesFortnite has disabled emotes in their March Through Time event as players were using many classic Fortnite dances while the event played out. Epic Games shocked the world on August 26 when they released a new event in Fortnite featuring Martin Luther King Jr. The event is a celebration of his life and achievements and features an in-game museum that takes you through a history lesson with a loop of MLK’s famous “I Have A Deam” speech playing for players to watch.. Now, Fortnite has made some changes to how players can behave once entering the March Through Time event. Fortnite disables emotes during MLK event Fortnite has disabled all emotes, minus the eight available from the event, that can be used during the March Through Time event. The change comes just one day after the event kicked off. Epic Games said yesterday in their announcement of the event: “These activities progress players through the experience and bring to life important themes of Dr. King’s speech: we move forward when we work together.” It’s likely Epic wanted to curtail player behavior that they saw as detracting from their desire to make this a learning experience for players. All emotes have been disabled in the March Through Time experience except the 8 that are part of the experience. pic.twitter.com/XQZMX1ABYP — Fortnite Status (@FortniteStatus) August 27, 2021 The event was received with mixed criticism from Fortnite players and the gaming community at large. MLK’s own daughter chimed in on the controversy around the event, saying “Decisions around licensing my father’s intellectual property are outside of my personal purview.” Read More: What’s in September’s Fortnite Crew Pack? – Epic probably should’ve had the foresight to know that kids would be L-dancing during the MLK speech, but at least the change came quickly. Hopefully, these changes can help make the event as much of a learning experience as possible for kids who are learning about MLK for the first time.

What are Fortnite’s Foraged Items? Effects, locations, how to use and more – Dexerto
What are Fortnite’s Foraged Items? Effects, locations, how to use and more Fortnite v8.20 update introduced a host of major changes to the game, ushering in the new Poison Dart Trap, and the official release of Arena Mode, a new ranked playlist which will be a crucial part of Fortnite World Cup qualification. Epic Games also reverted the Pop Up Cup rules that rewarded players with health and shields for eliminating opponents, a move which has already proved to be unpopular with streamers and pro players alike. One of the major surprises in the update however was the Foraged Items, as Epic Games had not announced their addition in the run-up to the patch launching. Many are confused and unsure about how these items work, so here’s everything you need to know about the brand new consumables. What are the Foraged Items? Foraged Items are brand new consumables that can be used to add health, shields or speed boosts to the player who finds and uses them. The items come in three forms, a Banana, a Coconut and a Pepper. What do Foraged Items do? Foraged Items offer players alternative ways to receive health and shield boosts without having to find Potions, Bandages or Medkits. Each item offers a different reward, with but all add health to a player, regardless of which one you find. Bananas – Instantly grant 5 health when consumed. – Coconuts – Foraged by damaging palm trees. When consumed, Coconuts grant 5 points of effective health over a short time. That means it will replenish shields if the player is at max health. – – Peppers – When consumed, peppers instantly grant 5 health and also increase the player’s movement speed by 20% for 10 seconds. – How do I use the Foraged Items? Using the Foraged Items is simple. Once you find them on the ground, players will see an option to interact with the fruit. Simply click the corresponding button, and you’ll receive the effects of the item. Where can I find Foraged Items? Much like Apples and Mushrooms which have been present in Fortnite for some time now, players will find Bananas, Coconuts and Peppers scattered around specific biomes of the map. Bananas can only be found in the tropical biome in the north of the island, while Peppers only appear in the desert biome in the south-east. Coconuts should be the easiest of the three to find, as they appear in both the tropical and desert biome.

Fortnite FNCS team disqualified in semis after player ‘wishes death’ on another trio – Dexerto
Fortnite FNCS team disqualified in semis after player ‘wishes death’ on another trio @paper_fn / Epic GamesIt is never a fun time when you are getting contested in FNCS, but one Fortnite player took it a bit too far and found himself and his trio disqualified during the FNCS semifinals. While competitive Fortnite can be filled with drama at times, there are times where players take things a bit too far. In the past, players have broken rules with antics on social media, as Cody ‘Clix’ Conrod is recently feeling the brunt of this after the removal of his “Support A Creator” code. Now, after the conclusion of the FNCS semifinals, a North America East team has been disqualified from the Reboot Round after one player, Paper, took to Twitter and Twitch to send death threats to another team. May 24th update Since paper and his trio have been disqualified from the FNCS Reboot Round, Twitch and Epic have been laying down more punishments for the NAE player. Paper has noted on Twitter that his Twitch has been banned indefinitely, and Epic Games has removed his Support A Creator Code. Indefinite ban on twitch ggs boys it was a good run i gave people good times and laughs while i could but its over for me now and ik it is my fault for my anger problems but man. — Rivals Paper (@paper_fn) May 24, 2021 It is unknown as of now if paper is going to appeal this ban, and if it will be revoked after some time. But, one has to assume he will also receive a competitive ban within Fortnite in the near future. Original article follows below. Fortnite trio disqualified after paper sends death threats Over the course of May 21-22, the FNCS semifinals were held worldwide. This was the center stage for trios aiming to qualify for this season’s Grand Finals and take their share of the massive prize pool. Read More: How to watch FNCS Grand Finals – North America East pro paper is one of the more recognizable faces within the scene, as his on-stream antics often lure in viewers looking for entertainment. Tuning into paper’s stream, you are more than likely bound to hear some rage after dying during a competitive match. This is the personality that paper has always displayed to the public, but during the semifinals, he may have taken things a bit too far. Along with his teammates neeqo and kwah, the trio competed in the FNCS semifinals, where they failed to qualify directly to the Grand Finals, but were still eligible to play in the Reboot Round on the 23rd. But, during the semifinal matches, paper and his trio were contested by the trio of TFC Sharkman, fearfll, and Enquz. Being contested never ends well for both trios, as Clix’s trio were similarly contested during the semifinals and also failed to qualify. Paper did not enjoy being contested during this event, and posted some alarming tweets tagging all three players and saying how they should “quit the game” and even went as far as saying “get hit by a 160mph bus u f**king trash cans.” Paper did not stop there as he also went into some Twitch streams and stated he was “going to find where they live and beat them until they can never touch their keyboard again.” Read More: Best weapons in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 – Obviously, this is never okay, and Epic has multiple rules noting how players should be respectful to others throughout events or face consequences. Well, Epic saw paper’s actions on social media and promptly took action against him and his innocent teammates. Neeqo posted an email he received from an Epic Games employee noting that they all have been disqualified from the FNCS Reboot Round for violating one of their rules. The trio will have to miss out on their last chance to make Grand Finals, and it is still unknown if paper is going to receive a separate competitive ban. Paper has since posted some tweets following the news of their disqualification, and it appears he is still angry at the trio for contesting them. Not taking it as extreme as before, he has since noted he was “griefed by goofballs.” Yall little ass kids keep putting words in my mouth i never said i shouldnt be disqualified or that i dont deserve it but idk why what i say here has to translate to the video game i got griefed by goofballs — Paper (@paper_fn) May 23, 2021 Paper has also called into question Epic’s consistency on bans, claiming “hackers ain’t getting banned for cheating but I’m getting disqualified for cyber bullying.” We will have to wait and see if paper receives another ban on top of their disqualification, but one has to imagine that his teammates aren’t thrilled with the situation since they weren’t involved in the social media outbursts.

Fortnite FNCS Season 4 Week 1: results & final placements – Dexerto
Fortnite FNCS Season 4 Week 1: results & final placements Epic GamesFor the first time since August 17, The Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) is back and Week 1 has already come to a close. We’ve got you covered with a full rundown on the first round of competition. [jwplayer uZppK6qI] FNCS finally made its return in Chapter 2 Season 4 with Trios competition taking center stage. The opening round of action kicked off on October 9 and just wrapped up on October 11. From World Cup winner Bugha, to Clix, Reverse2k, and plenty of others, all the biggest names were lined up to compete. It was a stacked list of former event winners and notable qualifiers that pushed through to the top of the pack. Only one trio could emerge as the first winners this season, however. Here’s a full recap on how things played out and who came away with the lion’s share of $36,855. FNCS Chapter 2 Season 4 NA East results What started out with thousands of teams in the first round, quickly dwindled to just the top 1,000. These elite players all battled it out in round two, but only 33 trios could make it through to the final stage. It’s here where the difficulty was ramped up a notch. Across the final two days of action, teams have 12 games to play. The team with the most points at the end of it all was crowned the winner. Given just how stacked the lobbies were, map wins were extremely hard to come by. Even teams among the top 10 barely finished with more than one or two map wins in total. It was eliminations that made all the difference in Week 1 of the FNCS tournament. The gap between the very top teams was extraordinarily close as first and second place was decided by just six kills. Ultimately, Bucke, Khanada, and Kreo walked away with 250 points to seal the deal and take home $7,500. Just behind them was Bugha, Avery, and Jamper. A few different team fights and the results could have been completely different. Expect each week of this tournament to be just as intense as the last. Arkhram, rehx, and EpikWhale blitzed through the opposition with a whopping 276 points. Three wins put them ahead of any Eastern team in the Top 15, though their average kills ended much higher as well. The second best trio was 52 points lower in the standing without an overall map win to show for their efforts. The remainder of the Top 10 was relatively close, though it appeared no one could hold a candle to the Top 3 teams this time around. FNCS Chapter 2 Season 4 NA West Top 10 final placements With Week 1 now in the rearview mirror, Week 2 is just days away. The next round of the competition starts on October 16, with Week 3 following seven days later as expected. It all comes to a head with the FNCS Finals taking place on October 29 – November 1.

Fortnite FNCS Season 4 Week 2: results & final placements – Dexerto
Fortnite FNCS Season 4 Week 2: results & final placements Epic GamesThe Fortnite Champion Series is already through to its second week and we’ve got you covered with a complete rundown on all of the latest action. [jwplayer uZppK6qI] With the first week of competition being a rather lopsided affair across the board, week two was a chance for most Trios to claim their revenge. From reigning champs to hungry up and comers, this round of the tournament was much tighter than the first. Following a series of qualifiers, teams had just six matches to prove themselves on the final day. It was intense from start to finish with wins going to a wide assortment of Trios Another $36,855 was up for grabs, but only one team could walk away with the lion’s share. Here’s an overview of how it all played out in week two. FNCS Chapter 2 Season 4 NA Eeast recap – Week Two Bucke, Khanada, & Kreo closed out the NA East win last week, whereas this week, they failed to crack the top 10. It was time for others to launch themselves into the spotlight and that’s just what Zayt, Saf, and Stretch did. Together, they put up 214 points across the six lobbies. This pushed them into the top spot with a near 50 point lead over the second-best team. While it may not have been quite as lopsided as last week, the top of the pack still led by a considerable amount. Familiar faces like Reverse2k, Ceice, Bizzlie, and plenty of others all found themselves in the top 10 and in the money this time around. With only one week left before the finals, however, it’s going to be a mad rush to secure a spot in the closing showdown. FNCS Chapter 2 Season 4 NA East results – Week Two (Top 15) FNCS Chapter 2 Season 4 NA West recap – Week Two On the opposite side of things, it was pure dominance from a familiar Trio. The same lineup that closed out week one with a commanding lead kept their form heading into week two. Arkhram, rehx, & EpikWhale soared to the front with 236 points across six games. More than 30 points ahead of the second-best and 75 points over the third-placed team when all was said and done. They’re clearly the frontrunners for the region and that doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. FNCS Chapter 2 Season 4 NA West results – Week Two One week of regular competition remains before we reached the finals for FNCS Chapter 2 Season 4. Keep your eyes peeled for results this time next week.

Fortnite FNCS Season 3 Qualifiers: Final placements and results – Dexerto
Fortnite FNCS Season 3 Qualifiers: Final placements and results Epic Games[jwplayer Puy4UiEa]The Fortnite Championship Series, or FNCS for short, has started back up again in Chapter 2, Season 3 with a solos event. Here’s what you need to know about who has qualified. Each time the FNCS swings back into town, Epic Games tweaks the format to keep Fortnite players on their toes. After trios, squads, and duos all got their moment in the spotlight, the devs have brought back solos. Though, getting a slice of the huge $5,000,000 prize pool isn’t easy even for the world’s best players. It’s a huge grind to get through the qualifiers, move to to the heats, and then work your way into the final. With the qualifiers now wrapped up, which one of your favorites made or missed the cut? Here’s what you need to know. FNCS Solos Europe qualified players In Europe, top players like Benjyfishy, MrSavage, Mongraal, and teeq all managed to punch their tickets to the next round after finishing inside the top 50 of the first round of qualifiers. Despite finishing tenth in the first qualifier, Benjyfishy continued on in the second day of matches and ended up as the top player on day two. While Benjy was on for a potential first-place, he fell short after a 67th place finish in the fourth qualifier. German player Rezon instead took home first. MrSavage, Mongraal, and Teeq all qualified comfortably in the top 20. Danish player Th0masHD was the only player to place top 50 in all four qualifiers though, with his consistency going to be a big thing to watch out for when Heats start up. You can find a full breakdown of the qualifiers, from all regions not just Europe, via KinchAnatytics’ helpful leaderboard. We’ve got the top 20 performers pictured below. FNCS Solos NA East qualified players In NA East, the big names, again, got their chance to shine. TSM’s Khanada, 100 Thieves’ Ceice, Team Liquid’s STRETCH, and BBG Bucke all managed to grab a spot in the next round thanks to their performances. Khanada himself managed to snatch first place over mero. Inaugural Fortnite World Cup solos winner Kyle ‘Bugha’ Giersdorf also had a solid showing despite his slow start. The Sentinels star had a lackluster first qualifying session but answered back with a strong second-place finish in round two, and two top-20’s in round three and four. FNCS Solos NA West qualified players While there was a bit of a cheating scandal on the final day, everyone who was expected to qualify in NA West did. Favorites EpikWhale and Arkhram managed to secure their spots with ease, with both players finishing in the top five. Maken made a statement however, with four top 10 finishes across the four weeks. While he didn’t end up taking home a win for himself, as it is with these events, consistency is key. Keep an eye out for them in the finals. With the qualifiers now wrapped up, it comes down to the Finals. The Heats kick off on August 14, with the Grand Finals taking place on August 16. There’s $5 million on the line across all regions, so expect to see the world’s best firing on all cylinders.

Fortnite FNCS Invitational winner banned after cheating in final – Dexerto
Fortnite FNCS Invitational winner banned after cheating in final Epic GamesThe FNCS Invitational has ended on a sour note in Asia, with the winner being banned shortly after the tournament for deliberately teaming during the final. He was disqualified, and the runner-up was promoted to first place. The $2 million FNCS Invitational brought together the best Fortnite players from across the world to battle it out for pride. However, it’s ended on a sour note in Asia. Japanese player ‘Sekosama’ was suspended for 14 days and had his $15,000 winnings rescinded after Epic found him guilty of teaming in the final. Sekosama finished on 205 points, seven ahead of second place. However, he was quickly called out after clips of him reportedly teaming with another player emerged. https://twitter.com/Fortnitecornn1/status/1264525329256726528 Sekosama’s ‘teammate’ would loot health packs and other important items, before leaving them in hidden spots for him to collect. In other instances, he would feed the kill to Sekosama, giving him an elimination point as well as the items. On top of this, Sekosama was reportedly on a call with his ‘teammate,’ with another player catching the two using comms mid-game. This happened multiple times over the course of the 12 matches in the final, which allowed Sekosama to build a considerable advantage. https://twitter.com/MaGuR_oo/status/1264523173845798913 It didn’t go unnoticed though, with Epic dropping the banhammer just hours after his victory. The Japanese player denied the allegations, saying he was unaware of the teaming and that he got first place on his “own ability.” Other members of the community also said that they only heard him using comms with other players while out of game celebrating, not in-game. Under section 8.2.2 of the FNCS ruleset, “players may not work together to deceive or otherwise cheat other players during any match.” https://twitter.com/CODE_ICEMAN/status/1264591044777177089 While it was initially reported that Sekosama’s ban was permanent, he later clarified that it was only for 14 days. Other instances of teaming have led to players getting banned for anywhere between 30 days and 60 days. The FNCS Invitational Asia title was handed to ‘qjac’ after Sekosama’s suspension. The Japanese player topped the leaderboard with 198 points, just one ahead of ‘Magu’ in second place.

FNCS Invitational NA West leaderboard Out west in the North American side of things, the glory of finishing in first went to NRG’s EpikWhale after he managed to pick up 344 points. He clearly built on his third-place finish from week one. The first-week winner, WavyJacob, slipped down one spot to second place – finishing 14 points behind the NRG star. 100 Thieves’ Arkhram also managed to up his game from week one, finishing 11th – missing out on the top 10 by two points. Outside of the top three regions, there was also action from Brazil, Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East. Victory in Brazil was once again claimed by Frosty, but he was run close by Fortnite World Cup star King. The Asia leaderboard was topped by CR Qjac with 392 points, Oceania’s victory went to RBK volx as he finished ten points shy of 500. The Middle East top spot went to ASMR Tobi who had 362 points. Fortnite FNCS Invitational solos Grand Finals – full results – Dexerto
Fortnite FNCS Invitational solos Grand Finals – full results Epic GamesThe Fortnite FNCS Solos event has come to a close in Chapter 2, Season 2 with a number of big names being pipped to top spot. Here, we’ve got a recap and final standings for each region. Back on April 24, Epic Games announced that they would hold a different Fortnite Championship Series event than normal – giving this newest installment a $2,000,000 prize pool and tag of being an invitational. Over the weeks, Fortnite pros have done battle with each other and a select number of invited players in order to claim some pretty sweet prizes, with each week leading to the Grand Finals. Though, things didn’t go as expected for a number of fan-favorite players. FNCS Invitational Europe leaderboard Benjyfishy had gone back to back in the two weeks leading up to the Grand Finals, however, the NRG star was dethroned at the top of the European leaderboard. Instead, the top prize went to JannisZ as he racked up 254 points – winning one game and amassing 19 total kills. The 15-year-old pro made waves with his win, beating out second-placed Wolfiez by 20 points. 100 Thieves’ MrSavage once again finished inside the top 20 – coming in at 15th with a total of 154 points. Benjyfishy, however, only managed to finish in 57th place with a lowly 74 points. FNCS Invitational NA East leaderboard As the focus switched to NA East, controller star Furious went on an elimination spree that saw him quickly leap up the standings and claim victory. With a total of 217 points, Furious finished 20 points ahead of second-placed Assault. Furious had finished in second place back in week two behind Roller – though he only managed a 44th place finish in the Grand Finals. Week one winner Commandment finished just shy of the Top 20, while popular players Zayt, Bizzle, Khanada, and Scoped finished in ninth, 12th, third, and sixth respectively. FNCS Invitational NA West leaderboard In NA West, it was all about 100 Thieves as Arkhram blew everyone away to claim the top spot – finishing 73 points clear of second place. His teammate Rehx even managed to finish inside the top ten in seventh place. NRG’s EpikWhale, who had won the second week, managed to pip Rehx to sixth place while week one winner and week two runner-up wаvуjaсob finished in 57th. In a surprising twist, NBA 2K streamer LosPollos TV managed to finish in 20th with 22 total eliminations. Aside from those three regions, there were also Grand Finals for Brazil, Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East. In Brazil, Frosty completed the clean sweep by adding a grand final crown to his two weekly victories. Qjappy was promoted to top spot in the Asian event as the would-be winner Sekosama was banned following cheating claims. x2Twins’ Jordan pipped Apu on a Bicycle to victory in Oceania, while ASMR KiritoKun finished in first place in the Middle East. FNCS Invitational Brazil leaderboard FNCS Invitational Asia leaderboard FNCS Invitational Oceania leaderboard FNCS Invitational Middle East leaderboard While the Fortnite Championship Series usually switches format, that isn’t set to be the case moving into Chapter 2, Season 3. The format is set to stick with the solos event, however, a date hasn’t been set in stone so we’ll just have to wait and see as to what Epic Games announces.

The 2024 Fortnite competitive season has finally concluded and EXD athletes Pollo and Peterbot emerged as FNCS Global Champions, beating 24 other duos. The two-day tournament was held at Dickies Arena, Fort Worth, Texas where 50 participants who qualified in FNCS Majors competed for a prize pool of $2,002,000 and the gold FNCS trophy. Some of the prominent pros included 2019 World Cup champ Bugha, streamer & XSET owner Clix, and past FNCS Globals winners such as Veno, Cooper, Mero, Kami, and Setty. The 2024 winners clutched a massive 147-point lead from the runner-ups and claimed 4 Victory Royales during the Globals. As the winners were crowned and handed a prize of $400,000, Fortnite announced the format and prize pool for the 2025 FNCS season. Fortnite FNCS 2025 prize pool and format Fortnite has revealed that the prize pool for the 2025 FNCS season will be $8,000,000, which is $1 million more than the 2024 season. The reason for this is that the 2025 season will be a Trios format, as opposed to the Duos format that has been used for the past two years. This means that Trios teams will go against one another in FNCS Regional Tournaments throughout the year, with the best advancing to the FNCS Global Championship 2025. The complete qualification format and regional schedule have yet to be released, so we’ll update you here as and when the details are announced. Is there a venue and date yet for the FNCS 2025 Global Championship? There’s no venue and date announced for the FNCS Global Championship 2025. Fan favorite OG feature returns for FNCS 2025 season Siphon, a popular Battle Royale element is returning to the FNCS 2025 season, which means competitive matches will feature it after a two-year break. However, before it’s used in Majors and Globals matches, Fortnite will hold a separate tournament called Siphon Trials to test the functionality in Trios lobbies with the new season gameplay. Once it has been thoroughly evaluated, Epic will decide whether to include it in the FNCS competitive matches that take place throughout the year. If you’re looking for more into the 2024 FNCS season, here’s the main hub and all the free drops that you can unlock.

Fortnite FNCS Invitational Week 1 full results – Dexerto
Fortnite FNCS Invitational Week 1 full results Epic GamesWeek one of Fortnite’s $2,000,000 FNCS invitational event has drawn to a close but if you didn’t manage to catch all of the action, don’t worry, we’ve got a round-up of what happened and the final standings. The Fortnite Championship Series – or FNCS for short – has given professional players the chance to test their skills in regular online competition. Though, Epic threw in a little twist with their Invitational event. Instead of it being open to everyone as normal, top performing players from previous and a few content creators from the Fortnite space were given an invite to compete. Though, the professional players that have made names for themselves in the competitive scene are the ones finding the most success. FNCS Invitational Europe leaderboard In Europe, NRG’s Benjy ‘Benjyfishy’ Fish managed to finish atop the week one standings with a 452 points total. He led the way from second-placed Letshe, who finished 62 points behind Benjyfishy. As usual, the European action was fierce and tightly-contested, with recognizable names such as MrSavage and Rotory finishing in 20 and 10 respectively. Following on from his outstanding performance, Benjyfishy even offered assistance to Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney in the NA East portion, but that didn’t really help him. FNCS Invitational NA East leaderboard Tfue finished just outside the Top 100 in the NA East event, with the major honors going to TSM’s Commandment in first-place. He finished just ahead of Team Liquid’s Stretch in second-place. Elsewhere, there was an 8th place finish for Clix and 16th place spot for 100 Thieves’ Klass. World Cup winner Bugha could only finish in 19th place despite picking up one victory royale in his matches. FNCS Invitational NA West leaderboard While NA West doesn’t quite always get the same amount of shine that the East action does, their games also had plenty of high-class action involved. Wavyjacob secured top spot by eclipsing the 400 point mark. NRG’s EpikWhale followed not too far behind in third, while 100 Thieves’ Arkhram finished outside the top 20. Outside of them, there was also action from Brazil, Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East. The most impressive of which came from Brazil’s Frosty, who almost hit the 500 point mark with four wins and 74 eliminations. The Asia leaderboard was topped by Ess with 378, Oceania’s victory was claimed by RepulseGod and his 395 points, while Middle East honors went to SAQR Njby who fell just shy of 400 points with a total of 394. FNCS Invitational Brazil leaderboard FNCS Invitational Asia leaderboard FNCS Invitational Oceania leaderboard FNCS Invitational Middle East leaderboard The Grand Finals for the solos event will be held between May 11 and 12 depending on the region you’re watching, so the standings could change dramatically with cash up for grabs. Fortnite players convinced FNAF collab is in the works – Dexerto
Fortnite players convinced FNAF collab is in the works Epic Games, ScottGamesFortnite’s August update shares a date with a mystery FNAF announcement, leading to the belief that a collab could be in the works. Five Nights at Freddy’s counts among the few big-name gaming franchises that have yet to feature in a Fortnite crossover. However, a new rumor circulating on social media suggests this may not remain the case for too much longer. The official FNAF-ScottGames account on Twitter/X has shared a post outlining its August 2024 lineup. Fans have plenty to look forward to in the first week alone, but the August 6 date especially drew lots of attention. It’s on this day that a “Collab Announcement” of some kind will hit the web. Of course, it did not take long for perceptive fans to make a Fortnite connection, specifically because the title’s 30.40 update will go live on August 6. Fortnite-dedicated accounts like archer, iFireMonkey, and HYPEX shared the speculation on their respective pages, with the latter arguing that if the crossover “doesn’t happen, it has to be the biggest collab coincidence so far.” Neither Epic Games nor ScottGames have formally announced or even teased a Fortnite x FNAF collab. It is possible, then, that this could prove to be little more than a strange coincidence in the end. Other long-running rumors suggest Five Nights at Freddy’s may not be the only surprise Fortnite collab that Epic has up its sleeve for the end of this summer. A leaked roadmap that made the rounds in April hinted at a Marvel-themed season possibly launching once Chapter 5 Season 4 arrives in mid-August. This also counts as information that remains uncorroborated at the time of writing. It’s worth noting this roadmap has already been accurate with respect to the Billie Eilish, Metallica, and wasteland leaks.

Fortnite FNCS Champion Kez permanently banned for hacking in Frosty Frenzy – Dexerto
Fortnite FNCS Champion Kez permanently banned for hacking in Frosty Frenzy Vanguard / Epic GamesKez, a former FNCS champion, has been permanently banned from Fortnite after he was caught using soft-aim hacks in the middle of a Frosty Frenzy event. Fortnite has no room for cheaters, especially in the competitive scene. It goes against the heart and soul of what it means to be a competitive player. However, it didn’t stop Kalvin ‘Kez’ Dam, a former FNCS champion, from using hacks in the Frosty Frenzy tournament. Kez copped the ban right in the middle of a game. He disappeared into thin air, and his items were left scattered across the ground. His teammates, Nanolite and Chris ‘CizLucky’ Perez, had no idea what happened, but it didn’t take them long to figure it out. “Why did he just leave?” yelled CizLucky. “He got banned! What the f**k?” You could barely hear him over Nanolite, who was also stunned and confused. AussieAntics, a Fortnite commentator who captured the footage, was shocked too. “Ummmm…? FNCS winner being struck by ban hammer mid-tournament…” “Doesn’t look good that he didn’t say anything to his teammates after being struck by ban hammer?” https://twitter.com/AussieAntics/status/1338273437098250240?s=20 Kez did eventually explain the situation to his teammates after the game. He said he’d been banned for “a very long time” for “exploiting.” It sounded believable, but he skimmed all the important details. Five minutes later, rumors he was using soft-aim hacks spread like wildfire. The Fortnite competitive community exploded in outrage, and he deactivated his social media accounts in shame. Shortly after, CizLucky revealed that somebody messaged him on December 5. They claimed Kez bought hacks and even sent him a screenshot of the alleged transaction and predicted the ban. It looked credible. However, CizLucky didn’t believe it at the time. “I was so naive,” he said. “I didn’t even think for a second he was telling the truth.” It’s understandable since these kinds of messages often turn out to be false, but this one was on the ball. I was so naïve, I didn’t even think for a second he was telling the truth pic.twitter.com/QVFvOCrnIm — CizLucky (@CizLucky) December 14, 2020 The situation has left Fortnite players and fans wondering how long Kez has been cheating. It could go all the way back to when he won the FNCS. He’s also won over $60k, and may have used cheats to acquire some or all of it. Fortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case. Sebby, who used to play duos with Kez, claims Kez told him he didn’t cheat until this season. Either way, justice seems to have been served, with more penalties expected to come.

Fortnite appears to have broken traps with v8.20 update – Dexerto
Fortnite appears to have broken traps with v8.20 update Fortnite has released its most controversial patch to date with the March 27 v8.20 update. While a new trap was introduced, it looks like a major change to how the placed items work has been implemented. Fortnite’s v8.20 patch is here and with it came a variety of changes that have ruffled some feathers in the Fortnite community. On the positive side of things, there is now a ranked mode for players who have long been calling for one. However, this came with some changes to the regular playlist. Players will no longer gain health back or materials after eliminating an enemy, which was a controversial change with many players in the community. This feature is still active in the ranked playlist. Another big issue that has been discovered is players are no longer able to place traps down that are directly next to a ramp. THEY BROKE TRAP KILLS IN THE NEW PATCH  #Fortnite #NotMyPatch #VaultThisPatch #TEDTalks pic.twitter.com/DQi3ot7JBz — Tyler | Code WILDCAT (@I_AM_WILDCAT) March 27, 2019 Twitch streamer ‘Wildcat’ made a quick video showing the problem with the traps. He points out players are no longer able to place a trap on the wall directly next to a ramp. If players edit the ramp, the trap can be placed. This will make creating trap boxes a lot more difficult now as this was a pretty popular way to eliminate players in the past. For the casual player, this change isn’t likely to make much of a difference since they probably weren’t able to do this to begin with, but it’ll certainly cause issues with the pros. Epic Games has confirmed this is a bug and is currently being looked into while offering an alternative. “This is an issue we’re aware of and actively investigating,” Epic wrote. In the meantime, you can work around this by using the trap to auto-build the wall instead of placing the wall then trying to place the trap.”

Fortnite floating island tracker: Where is it going and what is it doing now? – Dexerto
Fortnite floating island tracker: Where is it going and what is it doing now? Fortnite’s mysterious floating island that rose out of Loot Lake at the start of Season 6 continues to leave fans and players guessing about what it will do next. The island is one of the corrupted areas of the map that appeared in the game at the beginning of the season, and is the most interesting by far. Shortly after appearing, the floating land mass began to move ponderously around the map towards the final rune that the cube visited last season before melting into Loot Lake. Once it arrived at the corrupted area of ground near Pleasant Park, an event took place that saw another smaller island emerge from the ground before merging with the main island and making it event bigger. After moving on, it left a number of craters behind that throw players into the air. It is currently uncertain what exactly will happen next, but it appears to be heading towards Greasy Grove as of October 3 and the V6.01 patch. This goes against the theory with the most public backing, which is that it will continue to visit each of the runes in reverse order to when the cube visited them. If it was to do this, the next location would be the corrupted area near Lazy Links, but it seems to be heading towards the one next to Shifty Shafts instead. Update 1: The floating island has now arrived at the corrupted area near Shifty Shafts and appears to be going through the same procedure that it did with the first rune, creating craters and lifting a new piece of island out of the ground:

Fortnite Floor is Lava LTM returning with update 15.40 – Dexerto
Fortnite Floor is Lava LTM returning with update 15.40 Epic GamesAfter being teased by Epic Games a few weeks back, it’s now been confirmed that the fan-favorite Floor is Lava LTM will be returning to Fortnite with the upcoming 15.40 patch, which is set to go live very soon. One of the most requested LTMs in Fortnite is Floor is Lava. The mode was added to the game for the first time a couple years back and then suspiciously disappeared. While it’s certainly not unusual for these modes to go away and come back, hence the name “limited-time modes”, Floor is Lava hasn’t really made a reappearance aside from a brief stint as a part of the Grefg tournament in January 2021. Now, it seems like that’ll finally be changing. Fortnite update 15.40 is set to go live in the early hours of February 15, 2021 and Epic has confirmed that the Floor is Lava LTM is set to make a return when the update goes live, alongside the also highly requested (though not nearly as much) vehicle-based game mode Air Royale. Unfortunately, fine details about the mode’s inclusion are scarce. The biggest question is how long it’ll remain in-game. Generally, LTMs can last anywhere from a few days to a week, but with this we have no idea. In Floor is Lava, players have to, as implied by the name, avoid the lava that scattered across the ground. The lava starts to rise from the ground a few minutes into the match and continues to rise throughout the whole match. All the normal rules for building and weapons apply in the mode. v15.40 brings: ✅Blast back with an unvaulted favorite! ✅Fun for the whole squad! Characters will have more Exotics in stock for allies (or enemies) to acquire. ✅LTMs coming soon: Air Royale ✈️+ Floor is Lava 🌋 ✅Adjust object/build level of detail in PC Perf Mode alpha— Fortnite Status (@FortniteStatus) February 15, 2021 While the news of Floor is Lava returning is certainly welcome for fans of who have been clamoring for it, its return shouldn’t be all too surprising. After the mode made an incredibly small two day appearance during the Grefg tournament, an Epic employee hinted on Reddit that the mode would be coming soon. That being said, given the fact that it’s one of the most popular LTMs, it’s return in Fortnite is surely something to celebrate and even though we don’t know how long it’ll last in-game, hopefully it’ll satisfy fans for a while.

Fortnite Flare Gun return leaked with major buff – Dexerto
Fortnite Flare Gun return leaked with major buff Epic GamesA new Fortnite leak has claimed that the Flare Gun could be set to make a return in the near future, and it would be receiving quite a substantial buff too. [jwplayer so0eN9Pk] As Fortnite seasons unfold, weapons and items are regularly cycled in and out of the loot pool – either for being too strong, too weak, or not fitting the theme of the new patch. This means that some fan-favorite weapons might disappear from the game for one reason or another, either to return at some point later in the future or to never be seen again. In the case of the Flare Gun, which was initially added to the battle royale back in the v13.20 update but it was removed at the start of Chapter 2, Season 4. With some fans hoping to see it return, especially given the new fire mechanics, it appears as if Epic have got something up their sleeve. Following the v14.30 update, which gave a buff to the Combat Shotgun and also brought the Rally Royale limited-time mode to the party, leakers uncovered a handful of changes coming in the future. This includes the Flare Gun, which as leaker Mang0e_ pointed out, could be set to return to the battle royale after a spell in the vault, but with a little bit of a boost too. “The flare gun may be coming back to core modes soon,” the leaker tweeted on October 15. “The duration for marking enemies was re-added and increased to 15 seconds.” The flare gun may be coming back to core modes soon, the duration for marking enemies was re-added and increased to 15 seconds. pic.twitter.com/Kf9IICjFhK — Mang0e (@Mang0e_) October 15, 2020 While this is not set in the stone, as the leaker tweeted that it may return, some fans will be hoping that the Flare Gun does return – especially given its reported buff. This increase in time with marking enemies would certainly make players think twice about ignoring the chance to use the Flare Gun. But, as ever, it’ll be up to Epic to make the final call.

Where to find a Flare Gun in Fortnite & mark an enemy player – Dexerto
Where to find a Flare Gun in Fortnite & mark an enemy player Epic GamesWondering where to find a Flare Gun in Fortnite Chapter 3? The iconic weapon has returned, so here’s how to get one and mark an enemy player to complete that weekly challenge. Chapter 3 of Fortnite introduced loads of new weapons like the powerful Stinger SMG and the MK-Seven Assault Rifle – the first gun to have a red dot sight – but it’s also slowly bringing some old favorites back into the loot pool. The latest weapon to be unvaulted is the Flare Gun, which is a non-damaging gun that can be shot into the air to mark any opponents in the surrounding area. It’s perfect for ambushing an enemy squad or spotting incoming threats. You’ll also need to do this to complete a weekly challenge, which asks players to mark an enemy player using a Flare Gun. Below, you’ll find all the information you need to find a Flare Gun. Contents Where to find a Flare Gun in Fortnite Chapter 3 Flare Guns are part of Fortnite’s general loot pool, meaning the only way to find one is to search as many chests and supply drops as you can or get lucky and stumble across one lying on the floor. There aren’t any NPCs or Vending Machines that sell Flare Guns, either. This means your best chance of finding one is visiting a chest-heavy location like The Daily Bugle or Chonker’s Speedway. Read More: These are the rarest Fortnite skins ever – There’s definitely an element of luck at play here, but considering the Flare Guns isn’t a rare Exotic or Mythic weapon, it shouldn’t take too long to find one if you keep rummaging through chests. How to mark an enemy player with a Flare Gun in Fortnite Once you’ve found a Flare Gun, marking enemy players is pretty simple: Equip the Flare Gun, aim it towards the area you want to scan, and press fire. It will fly into the air and start searching for opponents. If there aren’t any enemy players nearby, the Flare Gun won’t mark anyone and you won’t have completed the challenge, so make sure you’re in a busy area before wasting your ammo – you won’t have many shots! Unexpected Fortnite mud trick blocks Flare Gun marking – Dexerto
Unexpected Fortnite mud trick blocks Flare Gun marking Epic GamesA Fortnite fan shared a surprising trick that players can use to avoid being marked by an enemy’s Flare Gun. Epic Games introduced the Flare Gun to its popular battle royale in Chapter 2 Season 3. The item’s since been vaulted and unvaulted multiple times, recently returning during a Chapter 4 Season 3 update in June. While the projectile can deal some damage, it’s most notably used as a tool to scan for and mark nearby enemies. A red marker appears above the heads of scanned opponents for a limited time, making them easier to spot. Of course, players would rather avoid something like this when in the heat of battle. And, fortunately, there’s a way to keep Flare Gun markings at bay. Fortnite player claims mud combats Flare Gun markings Reddit user brightworkdotuk shared an interesting trick with fellow players on the Fortnite subreddit. The user noted that they recently learned how to block Flare Gun markings – mud. Apparently, a player can cover themselves in mud to shield against the Flare Gun’s scanning ability. Another Reddit user chimed in with another interesting mud-related tidbit. “To add to this, if you’re marked, and then get covered in mud, you will stop being marked.” While it’s a neat trick worth exploring, fans in the thread did lament that mud is only available in Fortnite’s Jungle biome. The wet dirt has many uses, though. In addition to nullifying the effects of Flare Gun marking, mud somehow keeps wasps from giving chase when aggravated. YouTuber SypherPK proved as much in a recent myth-busting video. The YouTuber also confirmed that being covered in mud protects players from fireflies. Clearly, the mud in Fortnite is doing a lot of heavy lifting behind-the-scenes.

The weapon is unlike anything else in the game, and has multiple uses. We’ve got everything you need to know so you can use it effectively when you jump into game. The Flare Gun is one of many new items added in Fortnite Season 3. Some of the new weapons have tapped into area denial, including the Firefly Jar, and the Flare Gun is no different. The latest weapon to be added as part of v13.20 has more uses than just its name though. While it can act as a flare, it can be used to kill enemies, control areas, and even burn down builds. Before you jump into game on the new patch, check out our rundown of Fortnite’s Flare Gun, where you can find it, and how best to use it. They are randomly generated, so you won’t find them in the same places every game. However, you should be able to find one after a couple of games — or even in your first if you are lucky. How to use Fortnite’s Flare Gun Like we mentioned near the top, there’s plenty of uses for the Flare Gun in Fortnite. It’s not a weapon you just shoot at enemies in the hopes of getting a kill. However, it can help augment the way you play to clean up your foes. Fortnite flare gun INGAME! 🎥 – @zSizzyLeaks pic.twitter.com/EWXwZ4NOeV— fortbrleaks (@fortbrleaks) June 30, 2020 Its first use is, well, as a flare. You can fire it straight into the sky to sound off a flare, which will give you a ping regarding enemies near your location. This can help you figure out if you are clear, or need to start prepping for a fight. Read more: Fortnite Summer Splash 2020 event guide – Its other primary use is for area denial. The Flare Gun will explode on the ground, dealing 60 damage to nearby enemies in a radius after a short time. This is handy for flushing enemies out of certain areas, like the Firefly Jar. You can also use it to burn down wooden structures. A couple of shots from a Flare Gun will deal with wooden builds, and there’s really no safe way of stopping it from the inside.

Fortnite fix bug after Tfue destroys all of Tilted Towers in seconds – Dexerto
Fortnite fix bug after Tfue destroys all of Tilted Towers in seconds After a clip of FaZe Clan’s Turner ‘ Tfue’ Tenney destroying Tilted Towers in a matter of seconds went viral, Epic Games have now rolled out a patch to fix the strange bug. Essentially, by setting a 3 floor builds and ramp next to a building in Titled Towers, and then destroying the ramp, Tfue was able to demolish the main building in the area. It appears the glitch was a by product of one of the recent updates, perhaps a slightly broken piece of code. It made the non-player structure act as though it was created by a player, dismantling once a connection to the ground was destroyed. Tfue had clearly heard of or seen the bug performed before, as he quickly got it to work, but his stream viewers were in disbelief at what happened. Clearly this is not an intentional addition to the game, as being able to completely demolish buildings with such a simple trick would spoil the flow of combat. Thankfully, Epic Games have been quick to respond to the potentially game breaking bug, rolling out a hotfix on October 14. We’ve released a server update to address an issue causing the unintended destruction of non-player structures. No download or downtime is required. — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) October 14, 2018 So if you were hoping to emulate Tfue’s antics it looks like the opportunity is now missed. It’s another example of Fortnite’s development team keeping a keen eye on all social channels, and acting quickly when such a potentially devastating bug arises.

Fortnite fixing controversial “pay-to-win” superhero skins in v15.30 update – Dexerto
Fortnite fixing controversial “pay-to-win” superhero skins in v15.30 update Epic GamesIn the upcoming v15.30 update for Fortnite, players will no longer be able to make their custom superhero skins completely white or black, fixing the problem that some people were calling “pay-to-win” due to the skin’s incredibly low visibility. The game’s community was left frustrated by the custom superhero skins in Fortnite, claiming that those who purchased them could actually gain an advantage over opponents. After devs previously confirming that they were working on one, we now know when a fix will land in-game. According to a few notable Fortnite leakers like ShiinaBR, iFireMonkey, and HYPEX, players won’t be able to customize their superhero skins to be completely black or white after the game’s upcoming v15.30 update. Specifically, players won’t be able to select “white/white” or “black/black” color combinations when selecting their primary and secondary colors on the skin. The controversy surrounding the skin started a few weeks back, when players noticed that a quick color change allowed the player to almost camouflage into a dark corner. This made their visibility terrible and resulting in some pretty unfair kills. In addition to the skin change, Epic also confirmed that they’ll be adjusting the lighting slightly through the rest of the map, in order to completely nip the issue in the bud. Though, the exact details about these tweaks aren’t entirely clear. If that turns out to be accurate, players won’t have to wait long before the change is live in-game. Keep checking out Dexerto for any further updates about this issue, including the official patch notes for v15.30 once it goes live.

With the increased zoom, the player is able to quickly snap onto targets and use the added precision to line up highly accurate head and bodyshots. The gameplay isn’t dissimilar to that of the Red-Eye AR, which also enables players to ADS. Of course, this is just a bug, and Epic will undoubtedly refine this mode if and when it releases. Fortnite: First look at the Suppressed Sniper Rifle in action – Dexerto
Fortnite: First look at the Suppressed Sniper Rifle in action The third and final V7.10 Content Update officially released on Fortnite Battle Royale on Tuesday, January 8, and brought with it a brand new weapon. Leaks from Friday, January 4 suggested that fans would get their hands on a silenced version of the game’s Bolt Action Sniper Rifle, with the game’s built-in news feed confirmed that the Suppressed Sniper Rifle would be arriving in the next update. With the update officially live, players have already started to upload clips of the new weapon in action, giving Fortnite fans a look at what they can expect from the rifle. The weapon is similar to the Frostbite sniper found in Fortnite’s other game mode, Save The World, and is bolt action, meaning players will need to load another bullet into the chamber every time they fire a shot. Thanks to the silencer, the rifle makes a much quieter sound than the normal Bolt Action Sniper, however this noise reduction comes at a price, as the suppressed version does five less damage points per shot than its counterpart. Twitter user TheOGMagma2 has already uploaded a video of the Suppressed Sniper Rifle in action, and it’s easy to hear the difference between it and the normal Bolt Action Sniper. Fortnite: First footage of the Infinity Blade in action shows how insanely powerful it is – Dexerto
Fortnite: First footage of the Infinity Blade in action shows how insanely powerful it is A lot of new content was added to Fortnite withe the launch of Season 7, but first footage of the Infinity Blade in action suggests it might be one of the most exciting weapons yet. Usually you see several people dropping near the same chest at the start of the game, and there’s hundreds of those across the map. However, there is only going to be one of these swords between potentially 100 players per game. If you can manage to grab onto it, you will be rewarded with 200 health and 200 shield. Every time the player with the Infinity Blade gets a kill, the shield will be replenished as well. So, you can already imagine the carnage at the castle on Polar Peak as people will definitely fight for the chance to use it. Check out the clips: Infinity Blade 1st highlights, this weapon is silly pic.twitter.com/oXmKholKRP — Grant Haynes (@Fickle_Platypus) December 11, 2018 The Infinity Blade is a slightly later addition to the new season, arriving with the v7.01 patch, yet it has caused quite a large level of excitement among the Fortnite community. Epic Games teased the arrival of a sword on December 10, after posting about a weapon ‘fit for a king’ coming to the game’s Battle Royale mode. Now that we know how it looks in game, we can see what the hype was all about. The sword’s location, at Polar Peak, is one of the new places introduced by the v7.00 patch to kick off Season 7. In Fortnite’s Season 7, even when your vehicle is destroyed you will have a chance of not only survival, but getting retribution on those who finished off your jet as well. Well, if you’re quick enough to pull it off at least. The new season of Fortnite has brought about great changes in the map, as it has been extended with a brand new snow biome being introduced on the left side. Snobby Shores and Shifty Shafts escaped the cut, but not the fresh blanket of snow. The new patch also brings a variety of other new content to the game as well, not just the Stormwing. The update introduced a new weapon wrap option, all new camos for vehicles and ziplines have been added to the popular battle royale game. Fortnite: First footage of the Epic Legendary Pump Shotguns in action shows just how powerful they will be – Dexerto
Fortnite: First footage of the Epic Legendary Pump Shotguns in action shows just how powerful they will be The most exciting aspect of Fortnite’s v6.31 update was the introduction of the new Pump Shotgun variants, and now we can show you them in action. The introduction of the new Epic and Legendary Pump Shotguns on November 27 is part of Epic’s attempt to make shotguns in general a more viable and predictable class of weapons for all players. The Epic variant will deal 105 maximum damage, while the Legendary will 110. Both will be available from floor loot, chests, Supply Drops, and Vending Machines. Now, thanks to ‘Ultrabluex’ on Reddit, we have footage of what the Epic variant is capable of doing – and it’s pretty damn impressive! The player uploaded a video of themselves taking down opponents with single shots, but neither shot did 200 damage or more, so we couldn’t check for sure whether it would have one shot potential against full shields: The Legendary version definitely does kill in one shot, though, as ‘Lagproz TheForth’ showed on YouTube with this 220 damage headshot: One thing we know for sure is that we can’t wait to get out hands on the Legendary variant of the new weapon and see what it is capable of at range. The new Pump Shotgun variants aren’t the only thing to get excited about if you’re a shotgun lover, though, as the patch notes confirmed that all shotguns will now deal a minimum of three pellet’s worth of damage for any two or one pellet hit – making them more predictable, especially at range. The older variants of the Pump Shotgun also got some love, with the maximum damage increased from 80 / 85 to 96 / 100 for the Uncommon and Common versions. It will be interesting to see whether these changes to shotguns will result in a return to the shotgun meta in the long run, and even more interesting to see how popular that return is with the community if it occurs.

Fortnite Firefly Jar: How to use and where to find it – Dexerto
Fortnite Firefly Jar: How to use and where to find it Epic GamesThe Firefly Jar was one of the most interesting additions to Fortnite in Season 3. The molotov-like item allows players to flush enemies out from specific areas, and gain control of certain areas of the map. You can’t find a Firefly Jar on the ground ordinarily though. While it’ll drop from your enemies’ bodies if you kill them, and you can toss them from player to player, initially getting them isn’t that simple. Instead, you’ll need to hunt down Fireflies dotted across the map, capture them in a jar, and then use them. If you are a bit unsure on where to find them though, here’s a quick guide. How to find the Firefly Jar in Fortnite The Fireflies don’t spawn in any specific area of the map, per say. However, they do spawn in areas that aren’t as built up — so look towards the trees and the shores of the Fortnite island to find them. From there, all you’ll need to do is ensure that you have some inventory space, and then interact with the fireflies to collect them. They’ll be caught into a jar, which you can then throw. Firefly Jars stack in lots of three, so be wary of this when you are going around collecting them. You don’t want to end up with too many and then having to drop them to make space. How to use the Firefly Jar in Fortnite The Firefly Jar acts like every other grenade-style item in Fortnite. All you have to do is equip it, and throw at opponents. It’ll then spread on an area on the ground, or scale up trees. However, there’s definitely effective ways of doing it. It’s a brilliant tool for area denial, keeping enemies locked in place while you surround them, or forcing them to take cover in a disadvantageous position. You do have to be mindful that the damage dealt from the Firefly Jar doesn’t discriminate. If you throw one, you won’t be immune to its damage when it spreads on the ground. The Firefly Jar item is now available for everybody to use in #Fortnite right now. pic.twitter.com/KU8QYLVMiT — Fortnite News (@Guille_GAG) June 23, 2020 The Firefly Jar is one of many new features added into Fortnite in Season 3. A whole new map, new cosmetics, and even new vehicles were introduced in the major update, which dropped on June 17. The molotov isn’t the only item Epic added to Fortnite for players to use. The Charge Shotgun, a new Burst Assault Rifle, and a Shockwave Launcher was also added. The Chug Splash was also unvaulted.

Fortnite leaker reveals first look at new Firework Gun – Dexerto
Fortnite leaker reveals first look at new Firework Gun Fortnite leaker HYPEX recently unleashed footage of the game’s forthcoming Firework Gun, which Epic Games has yet to formally show off. Of course, Fortnite is no stranger to over-the-top weapons and gadgets. The Chug Cannon, for example, serves as more of a friendly healing item than a deadly weapon. Meanwhile, items such as Cuddle Fish, an actual type of in-game fish, were previously used as proximity mines against unsuspecting foes. Epic Games’ trend of adding extravagant tools to the popular online title does not look as though it will soon come to an end, either. Fortnite may soon play add a Firework Gun Over the weekend, well-known Fortnite leaker HYPEX (originally reported by Shot-Marco) shared a three-second clip of Fortnite’s all-new Firework Gun in action. The insider claims the explosive piece of weaponry will arrive sometime during Chapter 3, Season 3. Apparently, players can expect to access the Firework Gun via Chests, Supply Drops, Floor Loot, and an unspecified NPC. While HYPEX can’t confirm specifics as of yet, they believe the gun will function like a grenade launcher. HYPEX also posits the item could constitute a “flare gun re-skin” of some sort. Since Independence Day takes place in the US in roughly two weeks, it’s possible Epic will launch the supposed Fortnite Firework Gun in the not-so-distant future. As of writing, though, the studio has yet to tease such plans. The next major Fortnite patch, Update 21.10, will introduce a whole host of exciting content drops in its own right. When the update arrives on June 21, players can expect to find additional Super Styles and Naruto skins for the eagerly-anticipated Rivals crossover.

Fortnite finally gets long-awaited UI revamp – Dexerto
Fortnite finally gets long-awaited UI revamp Epic Games / iFireMonkeyFortnite’s annual Halloween event Fortnitemares 2023 has brought a long-awaited overhaul of the game’s UI. Here’s everything we know about the updates. Fortnite has had many User Interface changes over the years for its menu system since the game’s release in 2017. Despite a few minor updates, there hasn’t been a major change all the way since Chapter 2, which was nearly four years ago. Now, with the Fortnitemares 2023 update, Epic Games has done a complete overhaul of the system as they have decided to move towards a cleaner approach. Here’s what has changed in the menu system that has dropped midway through Chapter 4 Season 4 as part of this year’s Fortnitemares update. Fortnite’s UI menu updates and new changes Fortnite’s completely new lobby and menu UI brings a more simpler and easy-to-use menu system. Epic Games has removed the classic slanted rectangle buttons and images to feature a range of smaller icons all with curved edges. The whole UI has been revamped for each of the different designated pages, from the lobby screen all the way to the Item Shop. A significant change is that the lobby options have been shifted to the left-hand side of the screen, instead of having them on both sides and more crowded in the center of the screen. However, the main menu bar stays central at the top of the screen, with your level featured at the bottom right. In general, the developer’s focus has been clear to make it a lot easier to quickly navigate through each page of the menu as you will soon notice. For example, within the Item Shop controller users can now access the sidebar tab with the press of a button to interchange between tabs faster. One of the other interesting features is the addition of a search feature in Fortnite’s Discover tab that makes it easier for players to search for maps of their favorite creators without having to look for an island code. It will be certainly interesting to see how players react to the major changes, so be sure to check it out for yourself!

Fortnite finally gets key Festival feature several months after launch – Dexerto
Fortnite finally gets key Festival feature several months after launch Epic GamesAccording to the leaked player survey, Fortnite will soon add Jam Tracks from the Fortnite Festival as lobby music. Jam Tracks were introduced with Fortnite Festival when it was released at the end of 2023. These tracks can be purchased in the Fortnite Item Shop and used in Fortnite Festival as permanent song additions. The ability to have these songs for 500 Vbucks each was nice, but some members of the community felt like more use could be implemented. Specifically, making the Jam Tracks into Lobby Music that could be played while waiting for the next game. The idea behind this request came from the Lobby Music itself, which could be added to Fortnite Festival’s lineup and played in the mode. Some began to wonder why the feature didn’t go both ways. According to Fortnite leaker Shiina, the feature of adding Jam Tracks as Lobby Music is coming soon. This leak comes from a survey sent to some players. The community was overjoyed by the news and thankful that their purchase would be used for something other than the Fortnite Festival. “SO I CAN PLAY YES, AND? EVERY TIME I OPEN FORTNITE? OMFG,” exclaimed one X user. Other community members shared a similar sentiment, excited to listen to their favorite songs while waiting for their next game. But Epic Games didn’t make this decision quickly; it took a little over three seasons before this feature was implemented. “TOOK THEM 3 SEASONS BUT WE HERE,” echoed another commenter. Fortnite didn’t reveal when Jam Tracks will be converted into Lobby Music in the survey sent to players, which means the exact date is still up in the air. Good news aside, the implementation of Jam Tracks turned into Lobby Music could see the price of the latter potentially increase now that it has a double function.

Fortnite Final Reckoning Halloween bundle released – Price, skins, cosmetics – Dexerto
Fortnite Final Reckoning Halloween bundle released – Price, skins, cosmetics Epic Games have finally released their first batch of Halloween outfits for Fortnite Chapter 2 and The Final Reckoning pack might be the creepiest the game’s ever seen. In recent years, Halloween has brought out some fantastic content from Epic Games. The Ghoul Trooper skin, inspired by the infamous Skull Trooper skin, came out for Halloween 2018, alongside other skins such as the Jack O’ Lantern. On the other hand, Fortnitemares was widely regarded as a terrible addition to the game, the inclusion of zombies, or ‘Cube Monsters’, very divisive amongst the community. Yet, the new cosmetics that are coming to the battle royale game this year might be the best they have ever released. So, let’s take a look at what this new pack brings. What does it include? Don’t worry if these skins feel slightly familiar, as they were previously tweeted out by FNBRHQ on October 22, courtesy of leaker FunGamesLeaks. The Final Reckoning set of skins brings three different skins, all of which are like nothing we have ever seen before. One seems to be inspired by Tim Burton, a female doll with crossed buttons for eyes, while another seems to be a basic hooded skin, albeit with a purple x-ray hue and purple bat-like wings. The third and final skin is another hooded one, adorned by a skeleton and covered in flowers. Fortnite Festival Season 4 Patch Notes: Metallica collab, Battle Stage & more – Dexerto
Fortnite Festival Season 4 Patch Notes: Metallica collab, Battle Stage & more Epic GamesSeason 4 of Fortnite Festival launches June 13, bringing a Metallica collab and the Battle Stage to the musical mode. Since its debut, Fortnite Festival has slowly gained popularity as each new season brought in iconic musical talents. The Weekend, Lady Gaga, and Billie Eilish have been the first three headlines for the mode, bringing their music and more. Season 4 is here, and after much teasing, legendary heavy metal band Metallica joins Fortnite’s metaverse. Along with that, there’s a ton of Metallica-themed cosmetics, gameplay improvements, and a new mode to try out. Here’s the full breakdown, courtesy of the latest blog post. Fortnite Festival Season 4 patch notes Battle Stage debuts Battle Stage is a new mode joining Fortnite Festival, which will see 16 players battle it out across a four-song setlist. The last one standing wins the match. Each public Battle Stage match begins with up to 16 players, all competing to get the highest score on a randomly chosen song from Festival’s featured rotation. You’ll play the same track as other players but get to choose your song part and difficulty as you riff your way to the highest score. Owned Jam Tracks cannot be selected, so no one player has an advantage. The four lowest-scoring players are eliminated at the end of each song until there’s a single victor! Playing accurately is key, and with Bass and Mic multipliers set to 6x on Battle Stage, everyone’s on an even playing field. If you play Battle Stage in a private match, compete against your party of up to four! We’ll leave the setlist to you — players in a private match can choose from their shared library of owned Jam Tracks and Festival’s featured rotation. New Festival Pass The latest season will introduce a new Festival Tab with instruments, Jam Tracks, and auras as the rewards. Like previous seasons there’s a free reward track and a Premium Reward Track upgrade. Purchasing the Premium Reward Track unlocks the Lars Ulrich Outfit immediately, while the Robert Trujillo, Kirk Hammett, and James Hetfield Outfits can be unlocked by progressing through the track. The Season 4 Festival Pass’ free reward track items and Premium Reward Track items are not exclusive to the Pass, and they may become purchasable in the Shop at a later date. Look fit for battle on the Battle Stage. James, Lars, Kirk, and Robert are looking fiery with “Puppet Master” Outfits available in the Shop ‘til the bell tolls for Season 4. Shred with the best with Puppet Master Kirk, be a warrior of the wastes as Puppet Master James, be on the beat as Puppet Master Robert, and bring percussive destruction with Puppet Master Lars. Metallica Jam Tacks What’s more? These Jam Tracks from Metallica will also be in the Shop ‘til Season 4 ends: Metallica – “Enter Sandman” – Metallica – “Fuel” – Metallica – “Master of Puppets” – Metallica – “Ride the Lightning” – Metallica – “The Unforgiven” – Metallica – “Wherever I May Roam” – General bug fixes and improvements Lobby Jammin’ Your owned Jam Tracks can be equipped as Lobby Tracks! Try adding them to your Favorites, then hit Shuffle and enjoy a different groove each time you return to the Lobby. Gameplay Improvements We improved Fret Forgiveness (a.k.a. “coyote time”), increasing the time allowed between when you strum a note on Pro Lead/Pro Bass and when you need to press the correct fret input. Additionally: We updated button bind visibility to be on by default for Pro song parts. – Your Strum bind will be visible on the HUD. (Only one Strum bind is visible, even though you can have two different binds.
