Fortnite adds presents in content update v7.10 #1 – Patch notes Epic GamesFortnite players will now be able to pick up some amazing weapons found in Christmas presents across the Battle Royale map, as Epic Games has revealed more new content which has been added to the game’s v7.10 Fortnite update. Just when you thought everybody at Epic had taken time off for the holidays, they have spent some time to surprise Fortnite players with their very own festive gifts by making some new additions to the game. The new patch means a variety of new content will be added to the game, including the arrival of some powerful weapons on the Save the World game mode, which are very much inspired by the holiday season. For Battle Royale players, opening presents might not get much better than this. There will be a variety of boxes found around the map and they will contain “one of several powerful sets of weapons/items.” The idea of finding a present seems like a much more lucrative proposition than the standards drops, so you can imagine the level of competition you might face to get your hands on one. Fortnite adds new One Shot LTM for final day of 14 Days of Fortnite Epic Games have launched their last new Limited Time Mode for the 14 Days of Fortnite event, with the brand new ‘One Shot’ – a low gravity sniper battle. A truly revolutionary mode, One Shot incorporates the low gravity mechanics used in previous seasons, and puts a completely new twist on the standard battle royale gameplay. Not only are weapons limited to snipers only, healing items are also limited only to bandages. Every player is limited to a mere 50 health too, guaranteeing those ‘one shot’ eliminations. The mode is available in squads, meaning you and up to three friends can take on the One Shot LTM together, and hone those sniping skills. Of all the weapon types, snipers can be the most tricky to use, and require some experience to consistently hit moving targets at varying ranges. Making matters worse, the low gravity in One Shot LTM will mean you will have to deal with enemies high in the air too. Because of the health being limited to 50 however, the typical dominance of the heavy sniper won’t apply in One Shot LTM, as faster firing snipers such as the semi-auto, will be more desirable, given no matter what it will kill in one hit. In addition to the new LTM, the final day of 14 Days of Fortnite also sees a new challenge go live, which is to search for 14 chests. Doing so will earn players the free reward, which for Day 14 is the ‘Equalizer’ glider. Whether this new One Shot LTM lasts longer than just Day 14 remains to be seen, but if players like it, Epic Games could consider bringing it back in the future or extending it.

Fortnite adds Ping System inspired by Apex Legends – How World Markers work Season 8 has finally arrived in Fortnite Battle Royale and brought with it a flurry of new content and features, one of which is a major overhaul of the World Marker system. Using this vastly improved World Marker system, players can now mark things on the Fortnite map like never before, adding a whole new layer of non-verbal communication options. Previously, players were able use World Markers to mark locations on the map where teammates wanted to land from the initial drop, or travel to at some point during the match. How the new World Marker system works Now, in addition to locations, players can use the system to also mark weapons, items, ammunition, and pretty much anything else that can be found on the map. Whenever a World Marker is placed on an item or weapon, an icon will pop on all of the team members’ screen that will show an icon of what’s been marked, its rarity, and exact location, including how far it is from that player’s character. Players can also use a “danger” version of the marker to point out enemies, and this can be activated by either double-clicking the designated button or clicking it once while their weapon is aimed in. Similarity to Apex Legends It did not take the battle royale community long to notice how similar Fortnite’s newly improved World Marker system is to the Ping system used in Apex Legends. Apex’s Ping system is considered by many to be the best feature in the game, so it came as no major surprise that Epic Games decided to add their own version of it in Fortnite. While players have been poking fun at Epic for using the idea, no one is really complaining, since it’s a very good feature and will only enhance the Fortnite experience even further. Fortnite adds new Slide Solo LTM for 14 Days of Fortnite event Twitter: LUCAS7YOSHI_The new Slide Solo Limited Time Mode is now live in Fortnite! The mode, which was leaked in the 14 Days of Fortnite data mine as one of the new limited time modes for Day 3, gives players the chance to whizz around the map at high speeds with ice blocks on their feet. Yet, that’s not all. Players also have infinite Grappler ammo, giving players the ability to quickly manoeuvre from point to point with a grapple. 500The 14 Days of Fortnite is ongoing and fans can expect much more new content in the forms of new skins, gliders and other cosmetic items alongside both new and old Limited Time Modes. With it being Day 3 of 14, there are only 11 days left for players to get in on the exciting and ever-changing holiday season campaign. Day One and Two added the teams of 33 game mode whilst the Siphon solo mode was also added during Day Two. In the Siphon mode, all health items had been removed and health could only be gained via shields or claiming kills. It was one of the worst kept secrets heading into The Game Awards, but now it’s official — Master Chief and Halo are coming to Fortnite. Not only is the iconic character getting a skin and bundle in the game, but you can take him to the most iconic battlefield — Blood Gulch — for a game of Capture the Flag. The map has been added into the Creative section, and you can queue up for it there to play. Obviously, there’s going to be some Fortnite twists thrown into the mix, but the map’s mere existence in the game is enough to excite fans. Fortnite adds more Eminem Big Bang showings after server issues lock players out Epic GamesFortnite’s ‘The Big Bang’ event, which features a concert from Eminem, will have multiple showings for those who got stuck in long queues. Despite being the shortest season in Fortnite history, Chapter 4 Season OG etched itself into players’ hearts as one for the history books. The season broke two records for Epic Games with over 45 million players in one day and 100 million in November. Fortnite made up for the short season by adding back some of the best guns, items, and skins from previous years. Not only that, but they collaborated with one of the biggest rappers in history—Eminem. To send off the OG map one more time, Fortnite is holding a ‘big’ event where a meteor will be hitting the map to usher in the new season. An in-game concert from Eminem will accompany the sendoff. With such a highly anticipated end, the Fortnite servers appear to be no match for the fan base. Fortnite promises multiple showings of ‘The Big Bang’ event The event featuring Eminem was set to start at 2 PM EST, with the game modes being disabled in preparation 30 minutes prior. However, the influx of players was too much for the servers, which left thousands of players stuck in long queues. Fortnite took to Twitter/X to assure fans that they would not miss out on the event as long as they were in the queue for the performance. ‘The Big Bang’ event will have multiple showings after the initial 2 pm EST time slot to ensure as many people as possible can attend. “Well that escalated quickly,” said Fortnite on X. “Whether you’re in the lobby or in a queue, fear not! We’ll be adding two more showings of The Big Bang after the 2pm ET show.” Multiple users beneath the post sang the praises of Fortnite for keeping the fans in mind for the event, with some calling the move a ‘W’. Although others seemed to be disappointed that they would not be able to make the first showing. The next showings for The Big Bang event are at 5pm and 11pm EST.

Fortnite adds Disco Domination and Sniper Shootout LTM for 14 Days of Fortnite Epic GamesTwo new Fortnite Limited Time Modes have been added to the game, marking the fifth day of the 14 days of Fortnite event. Both Disco Domination and Sniper Shootout will make a return to the game, after featuring in the past, as part of the festive event. For those that are not aware of what the modes entail, Disco Domination will allow players to take control of a dance floor and break out their best dance moves in this limited time special. Sniper Shootout, however, will bring players together to face off in sniping battles where the players with the best aim have a better chance of survival – or winning. The sniper game mode was first added to the game in January 2018 and was last seen in Fortnite on Patch 5.21. The original LTM involved only snipers and crossbows, however the latter was vaulted in Patch 4.0 and is unlikely to feature this time around. Game modes which are still yet to be added during the festive event include 50v50, Food Fight, One Shot and others. The LTMs which have been added so far during 14 days of Fortnite include Slide Solo, Classic, Team Terror, Teams of 33, Icey Solo, Barebones and Siphon Solo. Fortnite adds Food Fight and Ground Game Limited Time Modes for 14 Days of Fortnite event Epic GamesThe Food Fight and Ground Game Limited Time Modes are now live in Fortnite! The Food Fight mode, which has already been released in Fortnite, separates two teams who fighting for their respective side – Durrr Burger and Pizza Pit. The objective of the mode is to destroy the opposing team’s mascot – Beef Boss and Tomatohead – when the wall that appears between the two teams is lowered while building a structure to protect their own side. Ground Game nerfs one of Fortnite’s most crucial aspects – building. The amount of materials that a player can carry has been reduced and a limited has been placed on ammo. A focus on using ‘natural cover’ comes into play as less builds can be constructed. The 14 Days of Fortnite is ongoing and fans can expect plenty more new content in the forms of new skins, gliders and other cosmetic items alongside both new and old Limited Time Modes being released. Fortnite adds CSGO style Search & Destroy LTM in new Love and War event Epic GamesFortnite’s 11.50 update launched its new ‘Love and War’ event, which features a limited-time Search and Destroy mode that strongly resembles the popular first-person shooter CS:GO. With Fortnite being far and away the most popular battle royale game, and CS:GO the same for first-person shooters, it was only a matter of time before the two got combined in a special new LTM. Following their v11.50 update on February 5, Epic Games unveiled a CS:GO-based Search & Destroy mode in Fortnite, as part of the new Love and War event that will wrap up Season 1. This new LTM features a format that’s similar to most other S&D modes in other games, such as Call of Duty, in that there are two teams who have to either attack or defend bombsites over the course of 11 rounds. Read More: Fortnite v11.50 update patch notes – It also utilizes an in-game economy system that CS:GO is known for: players earn gold throughout the match that they can use to purchase weapons, shields and other goods. It’s inspired by members of the Fortnite community who had managed to put a similar project together in Creative Mode, gaining so much attention and popularity that Epic decided to add it in as an actual LTM. How does Fortnite’s new Search and Destroy LTM work? Here are the official rules and format for this new S&D LTM, as provided by Epic in their Love and War event announcement: Two teams of 6. – Up to 11 rounds. Achieve total victory by winning 6 rounds with your team. – Destroy the bomb side (Attackers), Defend the bombsite (Defenders), OR eliminate the enemy team to claim victory. – Earn gold by eliminating enemies, planting or defusing objectives and completing rounds. Gold is used to purchase weapons, shields, and additional building materials. Note: Your gold carries over from round to round but resets after switching sides! – Love and War Fortnite challenges As part of this Love and War event, Epic also added a whole slew of new challenges for players to complete for cosmetic items, loading screens, and XP boosts. Most of this list contains objectives having to do with the S&D LTM, such as playing five matches, planting or defusing bombs in 12 matches, eliminations and more. The rewards for completing five challenges from both the Love and War sides are red and white skateboard back-bling variants respectively, but players can also earn a special pickaxe for doing five from the Love and War category. Epic haven’t announced when this event will end, but it’ll more than likely wrap up on February 19, a day before Chapter 2: Season 2 is scheduled to kick off. This gives players two weeks to try and complete as many challenges as they can and reap all of the lucrative rewards that the event offers.

Fortnite adds “addiction” health warnings for playing too long in China Epic Games/WikiMediaCommonsEpic Games are set to introduce an addiction time to Fortnite that would see Chinese players have their XP rewards halved if they play for more than three hours. With the hype for Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2 in full swing, Epic Games dropped the V12.10 update on March 3, making it the first patch of the new season. Inside, players found the previously teased Proximity Mines and some fixes for problematic bugs. As with any update, though, dataminers have been scouring through the files to try and some additional content. They’ve managed to do so with new challenges, cosmetics, and even weapons but some have also stumbled onto something else – text for an addiction warning message. Strings were uncovered that suggested players would start receiving a warning about their playtime if they had been playing for longer than three hours. “You have been online for 3 hours accumulatively. The in-game gainings will be lowered by 50% from now on and challenge progress has been disabled. For your own health, please log-off and get some rest. Appropriate physical exercise is good for your body,” read one of the messages. Similar warnings were also uncovered for five-hours of playing time, while an unnumbered “unhealthy gaming period,” was also mentioned. The loss of XP gain would apparently only return to normal once the player had been offline for five consecutive hours. As some Fortnite fans were left worried that they wouldn’t be able to grind the game as normal, iFireMonkey issued an update on the text strings, noting that one was linked to Tencent – the company which published Fortnite in China. “These ‘Fortnite Addiction’ strings are ONLY for players in China, as seen by the following string,” the leaker tweeted. It remains to be seen as to what Epic will do, but it’s probably unlikely that you’ll be forced to hop off Fortnite anytime soon if you’re not in China.

Fortnite adds Close Encounters and Holiday Disco LTM for 14 Days of Fortnite Day 6 Epic GamesIt’s the sixth day of the 14 Days of Fortnite event, which means there is a new Limited Time Mode now active, with the classic ‘Close Encounters’ making a return. On Day 5, Epic Games actually blessed players with two fresh LTM’s – Sniper Shootout and Disco Domination – but no such luck for Christmas eve. Close Encounters is a fan favorite however, one of the very first LTM’s tested out in the early days of Fortnite Battle Royale, and Disco Domination also stays in rotation, so we’re not complaining. The highlight feature of Close Encounters is of course the jetpacks, which make their return for the first time in months. For weapon choices, you are limited to shotguns only, but the standard equipment and consumables are also available – and the new grappler is also in play. Disco Domination has also been renamed to the ‘Holiday Disco LTM’. The full list of LTM’s expected in the 14 Days of Fortnite event was leaked prior to the event starting, including a number never seen before modes. One such mode was ‘One Shot’, which was a sniper only mode where players on have 50 health – and low gravity is enabled. However, for Day 7 on December 25, it is expected that ‘Team Rumble’ (teams of 24) and Solid Gold will be the LTM’s in play.

Fortnite adding viral TikTok “Jiggle Jiggle” dance as emote Wikipedia Commons / Epic GamesThe next Fortnite crossover has been revealed, but the last person players will have expected to appear in Epic’s battle royale is legendary documentary maker Louis Theroux. Fortnite is no stranger to bringing big names from popular culture into its world. So far, players have seen everything from Star Wars to John Cena make their way into the game, and Epic are showing no signs of slowing down. In Chapter 3 Season, iconic anime Dragon Ball took over the map, and there’s even talk of a Lady Gaga concert to round out the season. With so many huge names and properties arriving on the Fortnite island, plenty of players have their own bucket list of who they want to see next. Someone who was probably at the top of almost none of those lists is documentary filmmaker Louis Theroux. However, according to Fortnite leaker ‘FortniteBR,’ the broadcaster will be getting his own emote in the form of his heavily memed “Jiggle Jiggle” dance. The video of the emote shows the character dancing along while Theroux’s hilarious rap plays over the top — in what will surely be a popular purchase when it does arrive. The rap went viral after Louis Theroux appeared on a YouTube show Chicken Shop Date to perform the song, which he had written for an episode of his own series ‘Weird Weekends’. The performance quickly began circulating on TikTok, which is where the dance moves arrived from, and Theroux even collaborated with DJ duo Duke & Jones to release a full version of the track. Epic have proved in the past that they’ve got their finger on the pulse, adding a number of emotes and skins inspired by popular trends. This is just further proof that seemingly no one is off the table when it comes to a Fortnite appearance. There’s no word just yet on when the “Jiggle Jiggle” emote will arrive, but players can expect to see it pop up on the Epic Store in the coming days.

Fortnite account merging is now available – here’s how to do it Epic GamesEpic Games, publisher of popular battle royale game Fortnite, previously announced they would be introducing account merging – and the feature finally became available on Wednesday, February 4. While Fortnite players who played across multiple systems previously needed to have a separate account in order to do so, Epic is now allowing players to merge accounts, allowing them to use the same one across multiple platforms. This means that players will be able to use their V-Bucks on any of their available accounts – not just the account associated with the V-Bucks. To merge accounts, players must first select a primary account that they wish to continue using, then a secondary account to merge and disable. The secondary account’s console login (PSN, Xbox Live, or Nintendo Online) will then be instantly linked to the selected primary account. Two weeks after that, cosmetic items and V-Bucks will be transferred to the player’s primary account. There are a few qualifications that accounts have to meet in order to be merged, though; console accounts must have played on Xbox Live, Nintendo Online, or PSN before September 28, 2018 to be eligible. Merged accounts also can’t be currently banned, or disabled and players will need to be able to access all email addresses associated with the accounts they want to merge. IMPORTANT INFO One account must have played on Xbox One or Switch and the other on PS4 before September 28th 2018 to be eligible. Your account must not currently be banned or disabled. In-game items and Vbucks will be held for two weeks before they’re merged to your primary account. You’ll need access to all email addresses that are associated with accounts you wish to merge If you have duplicate 3rd party login like Facebook on both your Primary and Secondary account, the Secondary login will be unlinked. You can unlink it prior to merging. Battle Royale will allow you to merge all cosmetic items. Save the World will allow you to merge Llamas, Defenders, Heroes, Schematics, Survivors, XP, Evolution and Perk Materials. Other Items such as Unreal Marketplace items, Creative Islands, and Save The World account level and progress will not be merged over from your secondary account.

Fortnite adding first-person mode after Zero Build massive success According to a notable leaker, Epic Games is working on bringing a first-person mode to Fortnite, and players are more than ready. At the start of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, Epic Games pulled the biggest stunt in the game’s history. They removed the ability to build structures. This limited-time event would later become a permanent game mode bringing former Fortnite enthusiasts back to the cartoon battle royale. And even after an entire season of No Build mode, players like Ninja and Tfue routinely play the game on stream. However, it seems Epic Games may be working on another new mode that will once again shake up Fortnite. Fortnite adding first-person mode According to HYPEX, a notable Fortnite leaker, Epic Game is working on a first-person camera mode. They began working on the mode at the start of Fortnite Season 3, and it’s seemingly still in early development. The mode would force loopers to play from the perspective of their character. This would make looking around corners and obstacles a lot harder since the player would have a much smaller field of view. Think Apex Legends or Call of Duty but set in a cartoon environment. HYPEX noted that a first-person camera would work really well in the Zero Build modes. The real fun comes with buying those sweet Battle Pass skins – like Doctor Doom and other Marvel characters in this season. Occasionally, Epic gets into a generous mood, tossing out freebies during Christmas or Pride Month. September is not exactly gift-giving season, but that didn’t stop the company from dishing out a free emote. Epic Games made a mistake with the Support-A-Creator codes, but instead of snatching it back, they decided to make the Giddy Syrup emote free for everyone in the Item Shop. From July 27 to August 12, anyone who used a Support-A-Creator code in the shop was accidentally granted the emote. Instead of taking it back, Epic decided, “Eh, let’s just give it to everyone.” The emote features a pancake spreading syrup on itself. While it’s nothing to write home about, the Fortnite community on Reddit agrees it’s a nice gesture from Epic Games. One user said, “We complain about Epic a lot but considering what other game companies try to pull, they have a surprising amount of integrity.” Another chimed in, “Couldn’t agree more! While the original post on X pointed out how the War Machine skin looked like his thighs were on display due to the white parts looking like human skin, a quoted reply pointed out that Gwenpool’s Super Style looked even more hilarious. Instead of just having naked thighs, Gwenpool looked like she had no pants or underwear on until you rubbed your eyes and realized those were just white shorts. “I am NOT using these styles bro put some pants on,” the user said. The replies to the post showed even more examples of the Super Styles looking accidentally scandalous. One photo was of Emma Frost’s skin making it seem like her chest was overly revealing, and another was of a different Gwenpool design where it looked like her body was barely covered. They weren’t the only fans who took notice of these awkward-looking Super Styles, as more posts just like this popped up online. “I JUST DROPPED MY PHONE,” one response to this post claimed. Fortnite: A huge Llama has been added to The Block and it looks incredible Fortnite has had some crazy designs placed on The Block already, but ‘Looming Llama’ might just be the best one yet. The winner of the latest Fortnite Block Party competition has been revealed and a brand new llama has been added to the game, but it’s very different to the typical ones players will already be familiar with. The Block is now home to a huge mechanical “walker” and it’s like no other Creative mode design we’ve seen in Battle Royale so far. After the news was announced, its creator StormHawk – or gladboii on Reddit – posted: “Thank you to everyone for the support and appreciation for the submission! Couldn’t have been done without you all.” The walkthrough video below shows you every inch of the biggest llama Fortnite fans have seen so far, and if you think it looks good on the outside, wait until you see the inside. The new design will not have as many bounce pads as its predecessor, DM Arena, but it does have some located on the top of the structure in order for players who are at the top to get down quickly without taking damage. StormHawk first posted Looming Llama to YouTube a month ago, and says that they spent over 60 hours piecing together its unique design. With a wingspan spanning over 16 blocks and standing at 10 blocks high, it’s one of the larger structures in the game right now – just as tall as the clock building at Titled Towers, for perspective.

Fortnite: a look at the leaked winter-themed Love Ranger skin Data miners have revealed the first look at Fortnite’s winter-themed version of the Cupid skin, the Lover Ranger. Fortnite fans have been teased with the idea of winter-themed versions of some of their favourite skins. At the beginning of Season 7, data miners dug through the game’s assets to find what might be coming next. The file names for the Red Knight, Raven and Cupid skins were all discovered – alongside a limited-time Sword mode which eventually became the now-vaulted Infinity Blade – as were a number of winter-themed Back Blings. Now, SkinTracker – a website which tracks the release of items in multiple Battle Royale games, has revealed a look at the winter-themed Love Ranger skin. The Love Ranger, which is a play on the original Cupid skin, is a grey, black and light coloured skin. The same markings on the upper body from the original skin are back but in an updated frost-like look. There also cube shapes running down the side of the pants. The re-releasing of original skins has caused plenty of controversial amongst Fortnite players. Some fans believe that the ‘OG’ skins should not be available again, instead, allowing early Fortnite players to have something special with their no longer available looks. Epic Games have not used an OG skin as a re-release since the updated Skull Trooper was released in October. However, with the Love Ranger, Red Knight and Raven winter versions being found by data miners, anger about updated OG skins doesn’t look to be too much of a concern.

Only 50 teams could advance through the Semis and into the Grand Finals. After three hours and a maximum of 10 lobbies, those 50 Duos were all locked in. The Grand Final itself drops all 50 Duos into six consecutive lobbies. Bucking the ordinary point system, eliminations in this Open are worth five points each. Finishing in the top spot awards 55 points, while placements all the way down to the 25th spot still awards a little bonus.

Fortnite $250,000 Summer Skirmish is Plagued By Laggy Servers for Week 1 Epic Games is hosting a $250,000 tournament on the official Fortnite Twitch channel, but participants are experiencing a frustrating amount of lag. The Summer Skirmish feature top YouTubers, streamers and pros from the world of Fortnite playing duo matches until a single team wins two matches. Unlike the Friday Fortnite series that has squads playing indirectly against each other by counting eliminations, Epic Games has provided custom matchmaking to get everyone battling in the same game. Unfortunately, the stress of a custom matchmaking involving players from around the world has proved too much for Epic’s servers so far. Here are the best, or maybe worst, laggy moments from the Fortnite Summer Skirmish. Most of the lag involves players running from the storm, since they are used to being able to expertly stay out of it right along the edge. However, the lag is causing players to not be able to tell where the edge is. Every streamer is live on their own channel, with the official Fortnite Twitch page switch around between all the broadcasts. This has led to some incredibly awkward moments where streamers are bashing Epic on their own page. The casters on Epic’s channel have commented on the lag towards the end of the stream, saying they will try to work out the server issues and some hiccups were to be expected in the first week of the eight part event. Eagle-eyed Fortnite leaker HYPEX noticed that a new POI has appeared on the map, just south of Flush Factory. This was previously just an island with a rock on it, but now it has a set of ruins on top of it. Upon closer inspection, we now know that this is actually an island called Isla Nublada, and it’s home to a brand new NPC called Orelia – who’ll play a key part in unlocking the Lara Croft (Gold Anniversary) skin. You can find a complete guide on how to unlock the Gold Lara Croft skin right here. Wild Week 2 is coming Beginning on May 13, Fortnite will be celebrating their second Wild Week of Season 6. The previous Wild Week focused on fire-themed weapons, but this one could be something altogether different as Epic used a fish emoji to tease what’s coming. We’re guessing fishing will be the order of the day. More leaked skins & cosmetics As always, a new update means new skins and cosmetics. Plenty of them have been discovered by leakers, including a brand new DC crossover in the form of Catwoman Zero skin. These skins will be added over the next two weeks, and you can see them all here. Summer-themed additions in Creative Mode As well as the usual new Battle Royale additions, Creative Mode is also getting some love this week with a series of new summer-themed items for you to, well, get creative with! Is Katniss Everdeen coming to Fortnite? This one hasn’t been confirmed yet, but several prominent Fortnite leakers including ShiinaBR have hinted that Hunger Games protagonist Katniss Everdeen could be arriving on the Island in the next week or two. It was recently leaked that Epic planned to bring Katniss to Fortnite in Season 5, so it was definitely in the works at some point. Hopefully, it’s finally happening. Fortnite update adds long-awaited Pulse Rifle buff and Heavy AR changes Epic GamesMost eyes were on the new content added in Fortnite update 17.30, but the patch also included a nice buff to the Pulse Rifle and changed aspects of the Heavy Assault Rifle to make it more viable. Fortnite update 17.30 was relatively small compared to others. It added the Grab-Itron weapon, a new in-game event, and prepared the client for Ariana Grande’s Rift Tour concert, which will take place on August 6. However, it’s not all about what’s in the spotlight, though. Some players discovered two unlisted changes; a handy buff to the Pulse Rifle and some tweaks to how the Heavy Assault Rifle works. Let’s take a look at what’s been changed. Pulse Rifle buff The Pulse Rifle has fallen short of the mark ever since it was added earlier this season. However, it received a nice little buff in the latest patch; from now on, it will deal more damage when players aim down the sights. It isn’t a massive increase by any means, but it is a noticeable one. So, just remember to aim down the sights when using it to get the most out of it. Heavy Assault Rifle rework The Heavy Assault Rifle has always been a hit-and-miss weapon for players. Some don’t rate it and think it’s trash, while others swear by it. Either way, it’s about to get a whole lot better thanks to an overhaul in the latest update. Its fire rate has been slightly reduced. However, its damage output has been noticeably increased to compensate. But the most significant change lies in the first few shots. They will be far more accurate than ever before. Epic Games is always listening to player feedback and doing their best to fine-tune the weapon balance in every update. The latest patch is a testament to that, and although the changes aren’t massive, they’re still welcome ones that players have wanted for a while now.

While the brief patch notes released by Epic didn’t feature too much for players to get excited about, there are actually some pretty interesting additions to the game, especially with vehicle mods finally being added in this update. Here’s everything you need to know about Fortnite’s new v16.20 update. When is the v16.20 update in Fortnite? Release time & downtime As previously confirmed by Epic Games, downtime for the Fortnite v16.20 update began on Wednesday, April 13 at 2AM ET (7AM BST) with matchmaking being disabled shortly before then. This update is smaller than previous patches, so it hopefully won’t take you too long to download. The update sizes for each platform are as follows: PS5: 2.91GB – PS4: 3GB – XBOX Series X: 3GB – Switch: 2GB – PC: 1.78GB – As usual, there will be downtime accompanying this patch, but there are a couple of changes in regards to that which are noteworthy. Vehicle mods have been teased by leakers for months now, and they’re finally starting to appear in the game. The first vehicle mod that’ been added in v16.20 is Off-Road Tires, as shared by prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX. These will let you “jack up your ride” and presumably give you better control when off-road. Grappler Bow and Splinter Bow revealed Upgradable bows are one of the biggest additions in Fortnite Season 6, and Epic have now added two new variants for players to utilize: the Grappler Bow and the Splinter Bow. Unlike other powerful bows like the Mechanical Shockwave Bow and the Primal Stink Bow, it seems as though these new bows can’t be crafted. Instead, you’ll have to purchase them from NPCs with Gold Bars. New LTM: Lead Alloy Duos A brand new limited-time mode called Lead Alloy has been added with the v16.20 update. Fortnite devs are advising players to “sharpen those bow skills,” so we’ll have to see how all that plays out. We’re not 100% sure what this LTM will be about yet, but prominent leaker iFireMonkey has shared that the recent Mechanical Bow hotfixes are related to this LTM. A new LTM has been added called “”Lead Alloy””. That’s also what the hot fixes for the Mechanical Bow was for, it’s relating to crafting in this new LTM! — iFireMonkey (@iFireMonkey) April 13, 2021 DC x Fortnite begins This isn’t a major update, but the new Rebirth Harley Quinn skin has been added to the files with the v16.20 update, kicking off the exciting Fortnite x DC crossover. Superhero fans will be able to unlock this skin if they purchase the first issue of the upcoming Zero Point comic book, which is due out on April 20. It comes with a one-time use code to redeem the new outfit. New skins and cosmetics As is the case with every Fortnite update, a series of new skins and cosmetics have been added to the files in the v16.20 patch. Brie Larson gets a Fortnite bundle Yes, you read that right. Marvel actress Brie Larson, who famously plays Captain Marvel in the MCU, will be getting her own bundle in the Fortnite Item Shop. Fortnite v16.20 Bug Fixes According to the official Fortnite Trello page, there are numerous bugs and glitches that are set to be addressed in the v16.20 patch: Cannot create system-level parties between PS5 and PS4 when playing Fortnite. – Code Green Wrap not appearing correctly. – Arena playlist issues. – Storm visibility is clear when using Performance Mode. – Collection Book Character #17 not appearing on the Island. – Slurpshrooms and Coconuts temporarily disabled. – (Creative) Start with ‘Pickaxe’ Creator setting still spawning with a Pickaxe. – (Creative) Vehicles not moving properly in Creative. – (Mobile) Cosmetics in Lobby appearing blurry on Nintendo Switch. – (Mobile) 3D resolution reset itself even if the player saved the settings. – What else to expect in v16.20 In addition to all of the content explained above, this latest Fortnite update could include some map changes that haven’t been revealed yet. The first update of Season 6 made small changes to the map, so it would be wise to expect this one to as well. The weapon can be found for the entire day of July 8 as part of the 14 Days of Summer event. It’s the 11th weapon to have made its return so far, with the LMG, Quad Launcher, Burst Assault Rifle, and many more coming back for short stints since it started on June 25. The second challenge requires players to bounce the game’s giant beach balls in different matches, but if you’re struggling to find any, or don’t understand the challenge altogether, our useful guide should help you out. Following the v9.30 update, a number of massive beach balls appeared across the Fortnite map, although developers Epic Games refrained from explaining what they were for at the time. Now, with the release of the latest challenge, we finally understand their purpose, as they need to be bounced by players who want to complete this task. If you’re struggling to find where the three giant beach balls are, we have created a handy map that should give you a decent idea to where they are. Once you get in the general vicinity, they’ll be hard to miss due to their size. Players must bounce a ball in five different matches to complete this challenge. To bounce the ball, all players really have to do is run into it and send it flying. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, you can use your harvesting tool to hit it and control its direction, or get underneath the massive inflatable and bounce it with your head. Completing the challenge will reward players with a brand new loading screen, which sees some of the game’s most iconic skins lounging by some water in the summer versions of their attire. Fortnite’s 14 Days of Summer tiny rubber ducky challenge is being reworked Epic GamesFortnite’s 14 Days of Summer is coming to an end and one of the final challenges includes finding a tiny rubber ducky, but it’s too hard to complete for some so it is being fixed. Searching for an object in a certain part of the map has never been much of an issue for Fortnite, but with everyone searching for a single rubber ducky each game has proven to be very problematic. While some players will be able to snag it really quickly, others will have to play numerous matches to figure out how to get the duck first. Why are they fixing it? Finding the duck itself hasn’t been much of an issue but it’s the competition with all the other players that has been problematic so far, as everyone has their eyes on the prize. With half of the lobby consistently going to the same spot, chances are that someone will be getting to the duck before you and forcing you to wait until the next game, where everyone else is after what you’re after. When are they fixing it? Epic Games realized this is a big issue and decided to rework the challenge to make it easier. A simple fix would be to make the duck not disappear after it gets picked up, or just add multiple ducks. They didn’t go into much detail about what the fix will be but said a fix will be in the works in a couple of days. In the meantime, you can be happy if you were lucky enough to grab the duck before the fix. This challenge is harder to complete than we intended. Fortnite 14 Days of Summer challenges and how to complete them Epic GamesFortnite Battle Royale players will be able to celebrate the season of sun with the 14 Days of Summer event, which will have a number of different challenges for them to complete and – of course – some sweet rewards up for grabs. Epic Games likes to give its playerbase some incentives to look forward to in their game and the 14 Days of Summer challenges do just that, encouraging them to explore different locations across their ever-changing battle royale map. Not all of the challenges have been officially revealed by the developer, as of the time of writing, and they’re being added to the game each day. However, the more challenges that have been released, the more accurate Lucas7yoshi‘s list is starting to look. What are the challenges and rewards? With a variety of emotes, sprays, loading screens, and even a banana smoothie from the season trailer is up for grabs, players have a lot of prizes to claim if they can complete all of the challenges before the event comes to an end. The list of leaked challenges gives players something new to do each day, and they’re all something summer related as well. You can read the full list below of challenges along with getting a look at the rewards below. Challenge 1: The first challenge to kick off the 14 Days of Summer event will require players to ‘Dance at six different beach parties’ across the Fortnite Battle Royale map. Now, while it might take some time to find them individually, we’ve put together a simple guide for you to be able to see their locations. – Challenge 2: In order to complete the second challenge, starting on June 26, gamers will need to ‘Bounce a giant beach ball in five different matches’. If you need some help along the way, our guide should make things a little easier. – Challenge 3: The June 27 challenge for 14 Days of Summer must be completed using a weapon that many players might not have played with in a while, as they will need to record five ‘Eliminations with the daily unvaulted weapon or a drumgun’. Check what weapon has been unvaulted today using our guide. – Challenge 4: Thanking the bus driver is an optional thing in the battle royale mode, and while not everyone has the courtesy to appreciate them dropping everybody into the game, they will need to get used to it for the June 28 ‘Thank the Bus Driver and finish top 20 in different matches’ challenge. – Challenge 5: There are a number of pop party balloon decorations scattered around Fortnite Battle Royale, and the June 29 task asks players to pop five of them. – Challenge 6: Eagle-eyed players might have noticed that a number of unicorn floaties can be found in the game’s battle royale mode, and for June 30’s challenge, they’re going to have to search at least three of them to complete it. – Challenge 7: We’re sure that the July 1 task is definitely one that many people would enjoy both in-game and at home, as they will be asked to hit other players with water balloons in three different matches. – Challenge 8: Players might be used to bouncing around the map using car tyres in Fortnite. This challenge, though, will require players to jump around on a map feature that’s quite different, but definitely falls more in line with the summer theme – as they will have to ‘Bounce off a giant beach umbrella in three different matches’ on July 2. – Challenge 9: Riding around on different forms of transport is just part and parcel with the Season 9 battle royale experience, but you’re going to have to pull off some incredible stunts if you want to complete the July 3 challenge. They will be asked to ‘Score 250,000 trick points with a Driftboard with Neon Tropics applied to it.’ – Challenge 10: Start the summer celebrations in style for the July 4 challenge, as you will need to be able to set off fireworks in Fortnite. Players will be asked to ‘Launch three fireworks found along the river bank,’ and we’ll definitely be creating a guide to help you with this one. So, watch this space… – Challenge 11: On July 4, players will have to find the locations of Carnival Clown Boards in Fortnite and get a really good score at the same time. ‘Get a score of 10 or more on a Carnival Clown Board’ is the challenge, and because it’s a little tougher than some others, you will only need you to do it once. – Challenge 12: Beach umbrellas are a worldwide symbol of vacation or summer, and they’re going to play a key part in the July 5 challenge for Fortnite players, who will be tasked with not only visiting one of the giant beach umbrellas in a match, but also a huge rubber ducky as well. The rubber ducky first appeared in Fortnite following the v9.30 content update and can be found near Lucky Landing. – Challenge 13: Loading screens always play a part in helping players find hidden battle stars and banners, but the 14 Days of Summer will mix things up a little by incorporating a loading screen into the July 6 quest. Players will need to ‘Search the hidden sea shell in the beach themed loading screen’ in order to complete it. So, they’ll have to wait for that to be revealed by Epic Games. – Challenge 14: There’s a Low n’ Slow Harvesting Tool in Fortnite Battle Royale and the final challenge of the 14 days of Summer event will require players to destroy seven different grills with it. The harvesting device is a cosmetic item, just like pickaxes, and when equipped you will need to find a number of grills to destroy. These can be found all over the map, but spawn in greater numbers at the Snobby Shores and Mega Mall points of interest. – Fortnite’s 14 Days of Summer event kicked off on June 25 and is set to run right through until July 9, with the final challenge being set live on July 8. Hopefully, at that stage, many players will have reaped the rewards – using our guides – and picked up a lot of XP along the way. Fortnite Season 4 patch notes Check out the full “Nexus War” launch trailer for Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4 here: Marvel-themed battle pass As with any new Fortnite season, there’ll be a brand new battle pass for Season 4. According to the teasers, and pre-release comic book, this season’s is chock-full of skins for some of the most iconic Marvel superheroes. Thor is the main character in Season 4. Wolverine, Iron Man, She-Hulk, Doctor Doom, Mystique, Storm, and Groot are also getting Marvel-themed skins in the new battle pass. Captain America — who made his Fortnite debut back in Season 3 — may be included at a later date again too. Fortnite insiders have also tipped more superhero skins to be added throughout Season 4, so keep your eyes peeled! Three new Marvel POIs added Season 4 has also seen at least three new points of interest added to the Fortnite map. The first is the iconic “Helicarrier” from the Avengers series. This flying battle station is the location of the first battle between the heroes in the 2012 film. The new ‘Nexus War’ update has also added two more Marvel-centric locales. Dr. Doom, who is shaping up to be a minor villain in Season 4, has his own spooky “Doom’s Domain” area, while players can also visit the “Sentinel Graveyard” too. Assaut Rifle damage changes Multiple assault rifles have had their damage buffed in the Season 4 patch, according to HYPEX. The changes are as follows: Common Assault Rifle: damage buffed 30 ⇒ 35. – Uncommon Assault Rifle: damage buffed 31 ⇒ 35. – Rare Assault Rifle: damage buffed from 33 ⇒ 35. – Legendary Scar: damage nerfed from 36 ⇒ 35. – Fortnite adds new “Fire Trap” One new weapon/trap Fortnite has added in Season 4 is the “Fire Trap”. This sneaky piece of equipment can be dropped on the ground, and “launches dangerous fireballs” at enemies when triggered. Each fireball deals 50 damage to players. No longer will you be forced onto the Charge every game — you can pick up the Pump in all its rarities across the map in Season 4. The Pump Shotgun is available in Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary rarities. The Legendary Pump was one of the strongest weapons in the game, dealing up to 110 damage in one burst. The Combat Shotgun is also reportedly making its return, although VastBlastt noted “the drop rate is significantly [lower].” Items-wise, The Shockwave Grenade, Boogie Bomb, and Bounce Pad are returning. Fortnite/Marvel vs Galactus storyline Fortnite leakers, including HYPEX, originally tipped the Season 4 storyline to be some kind of riff on the popular ‘Captain America: Civil War’ plot. This time, however, it will be the Fortnite cast teaming up with Marvel’s mightiest heroes against Galactus. This storyline was confirmed in the August 27 trailer. The Marvel heroes appeared on the Fortnite island alongside a number of popular battle royale skins, before Thor directed them to fight a dangerous-looking Galactus instead. The weapon has six bullets with a 1.5 second reload time, dealing 60 damage points to an enemy if you land a direct hit. Fortnite Season 2 has been rapidly drawing to a close, with Epic continuing to plan for the massive Doomsday event which will bring the curtain down on this chapter in the game’s story, as we move into Season 3. Unsurprisingly, with such a major event on the horizon, the game’s files are now full of hints and clues as to what is to come, with the developers making nominal changes to the game. Still, Epic have added some new stuff for us to do while we wait for Doomsday, which you can read about below. New Storm The Agency challenges and rewards Epic Games promised that they would continue to add new things to keep Fortnite fans entertained as Season 2 ground to a halt, and the latest incentive to keep players interested is a new set of challenges called Storm The Agency. These challenges are set to launch at 10AM EST on Tuesday, May 26, and come with XP and cosmetic rewards, including a new Wrap, Pickaxe, and Glider, along with a loading screen that can be gifted to friends. While Epic have yet to confirm what these challenges will be, data miners who sifted through last week’s 12.60 update gave us a sneak peek at the Storm The Agency challenges, and what we can expect to see later today. PC Controller adjustments Aim assist for players using controllers on PC has been a hot topic among Fortnite fans for a long time, and Epic continue to attempt to balance the peripheral following complaints from the community. The developers have been fiddling with the system for a couple of weeks now, and are at it again with the 12.61 update. The game developers are no stranger to shuffling the pack in their battle royale game, adding a whole host of content since Season 2 launched – most recently with the introduction of helicopters, or as they’re calling them, Choppas. Throughout the first season of Chapter 2, fans complained that the developers didn’t update the game enough, leaving the game to grow stale during the longest season yet, but it seems that Epic took on board the complaints of their fanbase and have been releasing frequent updates over the past few weeks. Unfortunately, it seems like this patch hasn’t been as exciting as those that have come before it, with only a new challenge set added. With so many weapons updated in the game’s files over the past few weeks, it was expected that we would see some guns or items return from the Vault, but with the patch now live and Fortnite fans jumping back into the action, it appears that Epic have decided to wait for a future update to make these changes. Fortnite 12.10 Update patch notes: Proximity Mines, bug fixes, more Epic GamesThe first major update since the start of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2 is here, with Epic Games releasing the 12.10 Update on PC, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices on Tuesday, March 3. After the longest Fortnite season in history, the introduction of Season 2 has breathed new life into the popular battle royale title, and following complaints that the developers weren’t releasing enough patches, it seems Epic Games have taken the criticism to heart as they release their second significant patch in less than two weeks. Now, the developers have released a brand-new update, including a new weapon and some bug fixes to help player’s quality of life. Proximity Mines The headline addition in the v12.10 Update are Proximity Mines, which were first teased in the Battle Pass trailer for Fortnite Season 2 back on February 20. As expected, these are throwable items that are placed on the ground and are activated when an enemy player steps too close to them. They then fly into the air and explode, dealing damage to the enemy player, and letting you know that someone has tried to push you from that direction, making them perfect for camping out buildings and shutting down entry points, as opponents will be wary of getting too close as they deal 50 damage. Players who are hit by the weapon will also become marked, meaning you can see them through walls once they’ve detonated the Mine. Bug fixes As always, Epic Games have been hard at work fixing some of the glaring issues that have been affecting the game in recent weeks, with the developers updating their official Trello to reveal which glitches had been addressed in the v12.10 update. For those hoping for a major improvement in terms of the game’s performance, there’s bad news, as the card mentioning reports of FPS loss and framerate issues remains “In Development,” but we may see Epic release a surprise patch as soon as it is finished, much like they did for PS4 on February 26. Fortnite 11.40 Update patch notes – Sidegrading, Heavy Assault Rifle, more Epic Games / LazarBeam – YouTubeEpic Games have finally released the v11.40 update for Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 1, which is now live on PC, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. For fans of the popular battle royale game, it’s been a long wait for the latest update to the game. Usually, Epic Games release some kind of patch every week either in the form of a full or smaller content update, but the last time the game received any love was on December 18 with the v11.31 patch, just days before the developers went on their Christmas break. With the festive season now over, Epic are back at work providing new updates for the game, with the first of 2020 coming in the form of the v11.40 patch which officially goes live on Wednesday, January 15. With almost a month between patches, the v11.40 update may be one of the biggest since the release of Chapter 2, since the devs have a lot of catching up to do in terms of adding new content, making changes, and implementing fixes. Sidegrading & Heavy Assault Rifle One of the things that set Fortnite apart from other battle royale titles in its early days was the constant stream of new weapons and items, and it appears Epic Games have decided to offer players an updated version of the Heavy Assault Rifle. Dataminers had found details of the weapon in the game’s files back in November, and some even found ways to use it in Creative Mode before it made it to the live servers. Players won’t be finding the weapon inside Chests or Loot Crates though, as players will need to use a new system called “Sidegrading.” To do this, players will need to take their Assault Rifle to one of the Workbenches found across the map, where they’ll be able to turn it into the Heavy AR by offering some materials in return. The Heavy Assault Rifle certainly packs a punch, dealing 46 damage to opponents per bullet, with a magazine size of 25 which means you have plenty of chances to hit your shots as you attempt to wipe out opponents and claim a Victory Royale. Bug Fixes With Epic Games gone for almost a month, it’s no surprise that a number of bugs and glitches have appeared in the game, leaving Fortnite fans frustrated as they wait on fixes to come. One of the most frustrating was with the Remedy vs Toxin Mission, as the challenge which asked players to visit three bus stops was broken, with many of these locations in the game not counting towards the completion of the task. Thankfully, Epic have addressed this so that the problem should no longer affect players. On top of that, Epic have also looked at an issue that players were suffering from when editing quickly, which left them stuck in Edit mode even if they weren’t actually editing anything. Fortnite 11.50 Update patch notes: Chaos physics system, Launch Pads, more Epic GamesEpic Games have released what is expected to be the final patch of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 1, as the v11.50 Update goes live on PC, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. Over the course of Chapter 1, Fortnite fans grew accustomed to weekly and fortnightly updates to the game, but in Chapter 2 these patches have been much less consistent, while the season itself has been the longest in the game’s history. There have only been three patches released since the start of December – the last one, v11.40, coming on January 15, the first and only update of 2020 so far. Finally, Epic Games have released a brand-new patch for the game, with the 11.50 Update going live on all devices on Wednesday, February 5, bringing with it a brand-new engine, and the release of a new event to tide players over as they wait for the second season of Chapter 2 to start on February 20. New Unreal Chaos Engine The headline change in this patch is the introduction of a new engine, which will see Fortnite switch to Unreal Engine’s Chaos physics engine, and mark the first time the popular battle royale title has undergone a change like this. Almost every environment and prop has been updated in the v11.50 update to work with the Chaos physics engine, including buildings, vehicles, and even things you find randomly in the game like bushes, trees, lamp posts, and more. Just as Epic mentioned in their initial announcement post for this change, there will be “some bumps along the way,” so players should keep that in mind if they experience issues with the new engine. Launch Pads return Launch Pads are one of the most popular items in Fortnite’s history, and with the release of the 11.50 Update, the mobility items return to the game after being vaulted at the start of Chapter 2. Launch Pads are trap items than can be placed on any flat surface, which when jumped on can send players flying into the sky to allow easy rotation. These items will only be available in non-competitive playlists. New Valentines Day event With Chapter 2, Season 1 set to last four months from start to finish, it’s no surprise that players have started to become a little bored of the current iteration of the game, and with Epic delaying the new season until February 20 thanks to the launch of the Chaos physics engine, the developers have introduced a special event to give players something to do in the meantime. Fortnite events often celebrate the time of year, and with St. Valentine’s Day just around the corner, Epic have added a special event that’s sure to bring a dollop of love and romance to the game, complete with special challenges and some Valentines-themed cosmetic items. There’s also a new Limited Time Mode named “Love And War” for players to sink their teeth into. On top of that, there are also more sets of Overtime challenges on the way, so if you haven’t completed your Battle Pass yet and are still grinding towards the Tier 100 skin, you have plenty of opportunities to earn even more XP before the season ends. We’d be lying if we said we weren’t all run over by a car the first time we logged into Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3. After building up hype with the Fallout teaser collab, the new season is finally here, and it has, without a doubt, brought a meta nobody saw coming. No more getting zapped by Thunderbolt of Zeus or slammed from the sky with Wings of Icarus – right now, OP mythic cars are where it’s at. These Nitro-fueled cars not only have more health but also come in various Vehicle mods and weapons that let you mow down anyone in sight. As a result, while Epic has just recently nerfed them, using a vehicle in Fortnite has become quite the strategy to last until the final storm circle. As much as this reminded us of the chaotic Airbending endgame, Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 3 endgame looks much more hilarious thanks to this new meta. In our experience, the endgame tends to be a little quiet, assuming there are no “broken” mythics—people tend to be sneaky to avoid getting caught in the open. That said, as shared in a Reddit thread, despite having four people left in Zero Build Solo, all of them just ended up hopping in the same car in the final circle. It’s a hilarious sight to see, for sure. Another thread even referenced this phenomenon: “In solos, it’s not about the destination, it’s about the friends you pick up along the way” since people might hop in your car out of nowhere. In duos, trios, or squads, usually, you have one person driving while the other uses the car’s turret to get kills. But since you can’t drive while you use the turret to shoot at the same time when you’re playing alone, chances are you might be accompanied by a bunch of strangers by accident — who might end up cleaning the kills for you or even just enjoying the free ride. “It’s like a game of musical chairs,” one person commented. Seeing how powerful cars are right now, hopping into a stranger’s car would seem like a much better choice to get some cover in the final circle, at least in Zero Build Solos. And if you’re unable to secure yourself a seat, the chances to survive are slim – unless you have this one item that can help.

Fortnite players want 100% chest rate back after “ridiculous” changes Epic GamesA highly-critiqued feature that has nagged competitive players has been the spawn rates in Fortnite, and it seems players are growing increasingly fed up with the game’s RNG. Fortnite Season 7 has been off to a bang since it released on June 17, and it appears we are in for more amazing content, as new leaks have pointed towards LeBron James being the next ICON Series skin coming to the game. But, while the casual of the game is all fine and dandy for the time being, competitive players are once again, getting the short end of the stick. This time around, it has to do with the questionable choice to remove the 100% chest spawn rate within the game. Players want 100% chest spawn rate back During the initial release of Chapter 2 back in 2019, Epic decided to tweak the spawn rate of chests all over the map to 100%, meaning that every chest would spawn no matter what. This was one of the best quality of life changes that Epic made in the entirety of Fortnite, as it made no difference where you landed on the map since there would be some chests for players to loot. However, a few seasons ago Epic reverted these changes, thus making some spots on the map questionable to land on – due to the fact that there is a chance there may not be any chests that spawn at a few locations across the map. Over on the competitive Fortnite Reddit, it appears players are growing tired of this inconsistency, and a new post has risen to the top of Reddit discussing these issues. This post immediately warranted attention, and it raises questions into whether or not Epic is ever going to revert this decision. But, as we have seen in the past with other examples, such as the removal of siphon from public matches, it doesn’t seem likely they are keen on adding this feature back. Fornite progress glitch prevents players from earning bonus rewards Epic GamesA progress glitch in Fortnite is preventing players from redeeming rewards from the bonus battle pass and players are wondering how it happened. As a way of encouraging players to continue grinding even after the battle pass has been finished, Fortnite has implemented “bonus” battle pass rewards. Each page of rewards adds something new to the characters from the main battle pass. As the pages progress, so does the intricacy of the skins themselves. However, due to a recently discovered bug, players won’t be able to progress any of the rewards within the bonus passes. This is due to the game seemingly not counting week 0-3 quests. “Currently the first page of Bonus Quests are unobtainable for people who have already done Week 0 – Week 3 quests as the progress doesn’t track until the Bonus Quest Rewards are active.This same issue with happen with Page 2 and Page 3 unless Epic Games fixes it before releases.” When it was revealed that rewards could not be obtained, those in the comments began pointing out the issues Chapter 5 Season 2 has faced. “I’m noticing this whole season been nothing but a disaster… from the almost one day wait, to this stuff not even being obtainable right now. To the shitty exp we get this season that doesn’t even get us a full level. It’s really sad.” said one user. Others agreed, with some being confused about how small issues like these could happen. Some commenters even wondered if Epic Games had tested these features before their release. Fortnite has not addressed the issues with leveling up or obtaining bonus rewards. Last week TSM dropped Cowboy from the roster after accusations by an underage streamer surfaced. Cowboy has released an official response to these accusations. These accusations were brought to light by Twitch streamer Faith, who had obtained the messages Cowboy allegedly had sent to the 16-year-old streamer. “Imagine messaging a 16-year-old girl when you’re married,” Faith said of the debacle. “Imagine you’re on TSM and you message an underage girl saying, ‘Looking good.’” Cowboy had a short response to those accusations on his Twitch channel but he has remained out of the public eye since. “Please don’t believe everything you read on the internet,” he wrote. “I am not married and have hired a lawyer to clear my name. However, the actual debut of the game was released on July 25, 2017, which instead was a single-player version called Save the World. It tasked players with battling against waves of zombie-like “husks” after a storm that spawned them had wiped out 98% of humanity. Many OG players may remember its existence, but with the introduction of Battle Royale becoming one of the biggest games of all time, it soon lost any form of popularity in comparison. Instead, it was left as a paid expansion to Fortnite. Over its history, it has never been close to the heights of its Battle Royale counterpart or even more favored later additions of Creative mode and competitive modes. Now, with the Chapter 4 Season OG update it has surged to new heights to break its all-time player records since being on Discovery. Fortnite Save the World hits highest player count ever According to Fortnite.GG, Save the World has reached its highest peak all-time players at one time with 49,273 players. It has seen a nearly 20,000-player increase from last month, which peaked at just 29,644 in October 2023. Player counts for the mode have stuck around this mark ever since it was added to the Discovery tab and the data could be tracked. The huge influx in player count can attributed to the record-breaking success of Fortnite Season OG. After over 44 million people played Fortnite in just one day, it has led to new and returning players flooding into the single-player mode. Aside from this, players have used the mode to rack up XP fast and gain Free V-Bucks by completing various levels and tasks within the game mode. Despite fans having expected it to be made free-to-play for many years, in order for you to play Save the World for yourselves, you would have to purchase the Save the World pack in the Epic Games shop.

Before Fortnite was a household name, Epic were known for the creation of the Unreal Engine, as well as the Gears of War franchise, which has since been handed over to Microsoft. In 2020, hopping onto the Epic Games train is highly lucrative, and it seems that Sussman is down for the ride. This hire comes on the heels of Epic’s previous president, Paul Meegan, stepping down back in June 2019. Meegan had been with the company since 2012 until his departure. The island itself has been built in Reboot City. The aim, Biden’s campaign said, is to “engage players” ahead of the 2020 election. The “Build Back Better with Biden” island is chock full of stuff to do. Substitute goalkeeper Alexandre Oukidja was broadcasting the popular battle royale title on Twitch from his hotel room, as the team gets ready to take part in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations tournament. During the stream, midfielder Belkelbla appeared in the background of Oukidja’s camera, and dropped trou, exposing his posterior to fans of the keeper who had originally tuned in to see gameplay. News of the incident quickly spread on social media among Algeria fans, so much so that the team’s manager Djamel Belmadi caught wind of the mooning, and quickly took action. According to DZ Football, the 25-year-old was hastily informed that he had been dropped from the 23-man squad for the tournament, and was sent home by the Algerian Football Federation (FAF). Fortnite has collaborated with Star Wars once again to promote the newly released Disney Plus series Ahsoka, which means there’s a whole host of new quests, skins, and weapons to discover from a galaxy far, far away. One of the biggest returning features in this update is the ability to use the Force. With the help of the iconic Star Wars character Ahsoka Tano, you’ll be able to push items (and other players!) using the Force. Here’s everything you need to know about Force abilities, including tips on how to find the Star Wars character and enter Rift Gates. How to get Force abilities in Fortnite The only way to get Force abilities in Fortnite is to find a Star Wars character on the map and speak to them. Once you do that, you’ll automatically enter a Rift Gate where you’ll be granted a Lightsaber and several Force abilities to use. In earlier seasons, there have been many Star Wars character holograms you encounter on the map, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Darth Maul. Each one had a different Force ability to teach you and you’ll also be given their specific style of Lightsaber. However, in Chapter 4 Season 4, there is only Ahsoka Tano so far available, although with the other three Lightsabers being reportedly unvaulted for this season, it is expected they are to be made accessible soon. Where to find Rift Gates in Fortnite Star Wars characters and their accompanying Rift Gates will be marked on the Fortnite map once they’re available, but this usually doesn’t happen right away so you’ll need to keep a close eye on the map throughout a match until they appear. Once a Star Wars character hologram has spawned, their symbol will appear on the map. When this happens, you’ll need to get there as soon as possible or another player might use their Rift Gate before you can and take the Force abilities for themselves. You can see an example of a Rift Gate marked on the map below so you know what to look out for: Each character has a different Rift Gate symbol that will appear on the map, but they’re all drawn in a similar art style so they’re not too hard to spot. It seems as though they spawn in random locations so you can’t always predict where to go. Our best advice is to leave the Battle Bus at the center of the Island and float for as long as possible while watching the map. As soon as a Rift Gate appears, land there as quickly as you can for the best chance of getting those Force abilities. Footage of Fortnite’s New Double Barrel Shotgun in Action The Double Barrel Shotgun has officially been added to Fortnite Battle Royale and players around the world are already beginning to get to grips with it. Initial footage seems to suggest that the new weapon will be extremely powerful in close range gun fights but that the damage drop off will be significant at distance. Popular Twitch streamer dakotaz was quick to pick up a Victory Royale with the Double Barrel and exclaimed “Oh my god it hits so hard bro! Dude… this thing is a monster, oh my god! Yooo this gun is crazy”. Concerns about the gun being potentially overpowered have been replaced, by and large, by comments about the low effective range making it fairly balanced. One Reddit user stated “I got into a fight with it, at a range of around 5-10 meters (1-2 floor tiles). I was only hitting 50% of my pellets, for around 75 damage each shot. When you consider the damage with the effective range, this thing is really not as overpowered as everyone thought it would be.” The Double Barrel Shotgun’s biggest selling point is the fact that players can fire two shots in quick succession; something that has been sorely missed since switching between two different shotguns and shooting was nerfed. It looks like the Double Barrel will be a weapon that rewards accuracy at close range but punishes players that spam shots or “spray and pray”. As tends to be the case with a new weapon, it will take a few days of practice before players come to a final conclusion about the viability of the Double Barrel Shotgun. However, early feedback certainly seems to suggest that it will be a specialist weapon that is only used in very specific situations.

Footage of the new Heavy AR (AK-47) in action in Fortnite Battle Royale The v6.22 update for Fortnite Battle Royale went live on November 6, with the headline addition being the new Heavy AR, which strikes a resemblance to the well-known AK-47 rifle. Players have been asking for a weapon like this for some time, with various concepts drawn up by fans showing how an AK-47 could be designed Fortnite style. Now finally in the game, and simply called ‘Heavy AR’, it completes the set along with the ‘Heavy Shotgun’ and ‘Heavy Sniper’. What all these weapons have in common is that they really do some serious damage. A lot of stopping power makes the Heavy Sniper and Heavy Shotgun deadly weapons at their respective ranges. The Heavy AR looks to be no different, with a thick, chunky sound when firing and a high damage output. As the official weapon description puts it, “this weapon packs a punch!”, which you can see below courtesy of streamer ‘Shaggyy‘ – and this is only the rare variant. As well as dealing high damage to opponents, it will also tear through builds too, so no matter the situation it looks like this AR will always be reliable. Its fire rate is slower than some of the other Assault Rifles, but this is more than made up for by the higher damage, plus with a lower fire rate you should be more accurate. The Heavy AR is available in all game modes now in Fortnite Battle Royale, and comes in Rare, Epic and Legendary rarities, so jump in and try it out for yourself.

Food truck locations in Fortnite for Remedy vs Toxin Mission challenge Fortnite fans finally have a new Mission to sink their teeth into following the festive period, with the Remedy vs Toxin challenge asking players to visit three different food trucks dotted around the map. Anyone who plays the popular battle royale title regularly will know that over the festive period Epic Games decided not to release any new Missions, instead offering the special Winterfest event with daily challenges and rewards – as well as Star Wars cosmetics for those excited about the release of the new film. We’re into a new year in Fortnite and even though Chapter 2, Season 1 is set to come to an end in February, there are still some final Missions to come from the game’s developers, with the Remedy vs Toxin set going live on January 9. The set is full of testing challenges, but perhaps one of the more time-consuming tasks is to visit three food trucks that can be found around the island. Of course, actually visiting these trucks isn’t the difficult part, it’s knowing where to go to find them. The vehicles won’t be marked on the in-game map for your convenience, so unless you have already found them and know where they are, you may be left scratching your head as you stumble around aimlessly hoping to find one by accident. There’s good news, however, as to save you wandering across the map, we’ve done the hard work and found all three of the food trucks, marking them on the handy map below. The Fork Knife food truck can be found near a bend in the road between Lazy Lake and Frenzy farm, while Pizza Pit set up camp just south of Salty Springs, parked beside the bridge that joins the town with the ominous Weeping Woods. Finally, those looking for the Durr Burger van need to head north, as it’s stopped at a set of houses just north of Pleasant Park. There are nine total challenges in the Remedy vs Toxin Mission, with players unlocking a special skin and some cosmetic items for completing them, along with massive XP rewards. Players will also need to keep their eyes peeled for bus stops as another of the challenge, while your skill with the game’s weapons will be tested by dealing damage from Common, Uncommon, and Rare guns in a single match.

FNCS All-Star Showdown winners: Full results & final placements Epic GamesThe highly anticipated solo portion of Fortnite’s FNCS All-Star Showdown has featured some high-octane action, and winners worldwide have been crowned and awarded their share of the massive $3m total prize pool. While the regular part of the FNCS is on the back burner until after the Summer break for Epic Games employees, they decided to hold a one-of-a-kind mid-season Fortnite event for players worldwide. The FNCS All-Star Showdown featured the most consistent players from each over the last few FNCS’s, and they duked it out in a series of mini-games and was ultimately capped off with a solo event with a staggering prize pool. This is the first major solo event in quite some time, and there were some notable winners and top placers in each region! All-Star Showdown results There was an ample amount of anticipation leading up to this solo event among fans, as this was the first time since 2020 where we got to witness a major solo event. Largely due to the fact that all FNCS events for 2021 and the foreseeable future are going to be trios. Now, with the event wrapping up around the world, we are going to run over the top 10 final placements in each region, along with the prize money they earned during this event. Oceanic For the most part, the competition was close but Volx was able to catch an early victory royale, and quickly established himself atop the leaderboard and three consecutive top-five finishes solidified his spot atop the Oceanic standings. Asia Asia was the second region to cap off its competition, and it featured the same prize pool as Oceanic. However, unlike Oceanic, the competition went all the way down to the wire, with the first and second place finishers only being separated by eight points. Middle East The Middle East concluded their portion of the solo event, with a close finish once again, which seems to be the theme worldwide during this solo competition. North America East A region filled with top-notch talent, North America East did not disappoint us yet again. The top ten finishers were filled with house hold names in competitive Fortnite, and similarly to other regions during the day, the standings were ultimately decided in the final game. Brazil With the top of the leaderboard separated by only two points, Brazi has quietly become one of the world’s best regions for competitive Fortnite. North America West The last region to host their event, this was one of the few times where Rhex, EpikWhale, or Arkham were not at the top of the leaderboard. Instead, it was former Team Liquid player, Riversan who had a bounce-back event to get his name solidified as the solo champion. Fnatic Launch Weekly Fortnite Tournament ‘Salty Summer’ – Featuring YouTubers Anomaly, POW3R and Kinstaar European esports organization Fnatic are launching a new weekly Fortnite tournament called ‘Salty Summer’, feature some high-profile YouTubers and streamers, starting on August 12. The tournament follows in the footsteps of other successful weekly online tournaments like KEEMSTAR’s Friday Fortnite and Epic Games’ own ‘Summer Skirmish’. The tournament will see 64 popular YouTubers, streamers and professional players battle it out for a $5,000 prize for each weekly series. It will be a European only tournament, and so some of the biggest names in Europe for Fortnite like Anomaly, Kinstaar and Fnatic member POW3R will be participating. A host of major names from the world of streaming and the professional game – 64 to be exact – will be featuring. The likes of Anomaly, POW3R, Kinstaar are already confirmed with many more to come. Tournaments will take place every other weekend throughout August. Competitors will face off online in a double elimination format tournament, and the winning duo each week will earn themselves $5,000. Each weekend, tournaments will be streamed online by the participants directly. Wouter Sleijffers, CEO of Fnatic explained that there exists a void for European Fortnite competition, one that Salty Summer aims to fill. “As it stands, a tournament like Salty Summer doesn’t currently exist in Europe, so with this in mind and the popularity of Fortnite amongst our fans we decided to create this for ourselves. It’s another example of the way Fnatic is always looking to. FNATIC to Hold Tryouts for Their Fortnite Team at E3 2018 – Information and Timings UK based esports organization FNATIC are set to hold ‘tryouts’ for their competitive Fortnite team at the upcoming E3 convention in Los Angeles. In an unprecedented move, Fortnite players who believe they possibly have the talent to compete with the very best, will have a chance to prove it in front of the watchful eyes of FNATIC’s scouts. FNATIC are just the latest team to take serious interest in Fortnite esports, following the announcement by developers Epic Games that $100m would be put towards prize pools for tournaments, for the 2018-19 season. Top esports organizations including Team Envy, Team SoloMid, FaZe Clan and Team Liquid have already recruited players, but FNATIC are taking a different approach. Having already signed on top Fortnite player Johan “Ettnix” Bengtsson, FNATIC are looking to fill out the rest of their roster from talent at the E3 expo. The tryouts will be located within DXRacer’s booth [Booth #2513] at the main E3 show, the company behind the world’s best gaming chairs and an official partner of FNATIC. It’s a first come, first served event where players will have one life in a solo game in a bid to win prizes from FNATIC’s brand new range of Gear products that launched just weeks ago. Fnatic CEO calls out Epic after majority of Fortnite players leave Fnatic / Epic GamesFnatic’s CEO Sam Mathews saw most of his Fortnite roster depart the legendary esports organization on February 14. After wishing the players well, he turned his sights toward Epic Games and how they’ve handled the competitive scene. It may be Valentine’s Day, but that doesn’t mean that love has to be a given. But depending on how you view them, the statements from one of Fnatic’s founders could be viewed as a form of “tough love.” After saying goodbye to three members of the organization’s active Fortnite roster, Fnatic CEO Sam Mathews addressed the team’s commitment to the game, but indicated his belief that Epic’s commitment to the competitive scene is lacking. Guys we still massively believe in the potential of Fortnite competitive. But I’m not sure Epic always feels the same way. We speak with all publishers, work with them on driving esports. Use us. — Sam Mathews (@sammathews) February 14, 2020 Mathews touts Fnatic’s commitment to competitive Fortnite, but argues that Epic doesn’t “always feel the same way.” He also implies that there’s a lack of communication between even top teams and the developer, arguing that they speak with other publishers to help them drive esports forward. Just hours before, Mathews and Fnatic said goodbye to Derman “MOTOR” Özdemir, Theo “Pr0vokd” Guillemenot, and Jacob “verox” Gilbert. All three Fortnite players had decided to let their contracts run out and not re-sign. Pr0vokd indicated on his announcement tweet that he is looking to now represent and organization that is “supportive, and wants to take the next step with me.” MOTOR’s initial tweet appeared like he was taking shots at FNATIC, but he clarified in a follow-up that the team’s vision for the game differed from reality. Fnatic didn’t kick us because there was no “”money””. That message was for orgs paying people and kicking them as soon as they see no value in them. Fnatic had a different vision for Fortnite in 2018/2019. I loved a lot of people there but bussiness is bussiness. — MOTOR🐻 (@MotorFN) February 14, 2020 In a reply to verox’s tweet, Mathews revealed that the “team’s plans around Fortnite are toned down.” After the departures, Fnatic only have two active Fortnite players on their roster. Like many other organizations, the team is likely adjusting to Epic’s focus on individual and personality rather than the competitive scene. With the exception of perhaps the World Cup, few competitive events get the focus that other Fortnite content receives. The first World Cup was a bit of a blow for organizations fielding Fortnite teams, as only Solos, Duos, and Creative events were announced. Many participants for each event weren’t even representing any sports organizations. While viewership and gross revenue numbers are certainly doing well, excitement for competitive Fortnite isn’t. Most attention on events is focused more on the personalities attending, whether they be celebrities or streaming stars. If Mathews is right in saying that Epic feels like it doesn’t need to work with esports organizations, then other teams focused more on competing than content may not be able to hold onto their players either.

Floss emote removed from another game amid Fortnite dances copyright scandal Epic GamesFortnite’s ongoing legal saga surrounding in-game emotes and dances has begun affecting other games outside of the battle royale genre. Epic Games are facing multiple suits from people who claim their work is being profited from and improperly used in the popular battle royale game without compensation or credit. Former Fresh Prince of Bel Air actor Alfonso Ribeiro, who played Carlton and popularised the ‘Carlton’ dance is one of them. Others include rapper 2 Milly and the use of his ‘Milly Rock,’ Russell Horning, otherwise known as ‘the Backpack Kid’, who popularised the ‘Floss dance’ which was added in Season 2, as well as the ‘Orange Shirt Kid’ who became known for the Orange Justice emote. While they are yet to be removed from Fortnite, some very similar emotes have begun exiting other titles. Fans of Microsoft’s Forza Horizon 4 have noticed that the ‘Carlton’ dance and the ‘Floss’ have been removed from the game. The emotes have been a part of the game since its release back in October of 2018 as a way to celebrate a win over friends. Other pop culture emotes, including one named ‘Hotline’ that is similar to Drake’s Hotline Bling dance, remain in-game. Fortnite and Forza aren’t the only games to utilise these types of emotes and dances. Alfonso Ribeiro is also suing 2K Games over the use of the dance in the NBA 2K franchise. It remains to be seen if any of the suits against Epic Games pay off in favor of those suing the now multi-billion dollar gaming company.

Florida woman dislocates son’s jaw because he wouldn’t quit Fortnite A woman in Florida has reportedly been arrested after she lashed out and dislocated her son’s jaw – all because he wouldn’t stop playing hit battle royale Fortnite. Fortnite has been a gigantic success ever since its release in September 2017, and fans of the genre – children especially – have flocked to the game like flies. The free-to-play title has been played by over 250 million people, and generated over two billion dollars in revenue. But one woman from Florida decided she’d had enough of her son’s enjoyment of the battle royale title, and ended up dislocating his jaw when he wouldn’t stop playing. 35-year-old Ann Perugia from South Dayton, Florida was arrested after being accused of assault on her 10-year-old son on October 23. The boy – who can’t be named for legal reasons – was said to have “forgotten” to quit the game when asked to take a shower. According to a police report obtained by Florida TV station WFLA, when questioned whether the son had taken a shower and he responded “no”, Perugia then followed him to the bathroom and proceeded to punch him in the face and dislocated his jaw. Scratches were also discovered on the boy’s body, believed to have been inflicted by his mother. Perugia reportedly then called the child’s father, Brian Butler, and asked him to come and pick his son up. Upon arrival, the boy was said to be standing outside the family home with a bag of clothes, shortly before the mother came out and told the father to take his son and go. After being arrested, the boy’s mom reportedly told police that the 10-year-old came home from school and immediately started playing Fortnite. Fix for Turbo Building Issue in Fortnite is Coming via Update v4.2 The immense popularity that Fortnite: Battle Royale has received in recent months has led it to become one of the most popular video games in recent history. A major reason for the game’s immense popularity is the effort and dedication from developer Epic Games to consistently improve, adjust, and add to the game to keep the experience fresh and fun. However, despite this high level of popularity, the game’s vast player-base has been recently disgruntled due to the high level of bugs and glitches that currently exist in the game. While Epic have shown considerable effort in addressing these issues, it seems that as soon as one set of glitches get fixed, another batch pops up in their place. Turbo building is an option which gives players the ability to continuously build structures without having to let go of the build button. The issue with turbo building was initially reported by Reddit user ‘fwinnit.’ Builder pro is broken after the patch, pre patch was fine. There is huge delay when placing pieces and sometimes doesn’t place the piece at all, it just shows the piece and ghosts. Many of us switched to builder pro because we we wanted faster, smoother build battles and building in general, and before the patch we had this, now we are at a huge disadvantage in these fights. It’s as if turbo building is not working properly with builder pro. Walls seem to be the worst affected by this, it’s so inconsistant whether it places them or not. Builder pro was the best thing they added to the game, but unless EPIC let’s us know they’re even aware of the issue then we will have to go back to combat pro because the disadvantagee is too much. Can we get a response from EPIC, just so we know they’re aware of the issue. Furthermore, Epic Games representative ‘darkveil’ discovered an additional issue after investigating the bug. Okay, so I’m able to reproduce an additional issue where, when quickly switching between different pieces in Builder Pro, Turbo Building will not place the piece until you release and re-press the button. It happens most often with the LT/RT triggers, but will also reproduce with the bumper buttons if you switch very quickly. I’m really sorry that we didn’t notice this issue. According to the Fortnite Trello Community Board, a fix for this issue is set to be implemented via the v4.2 update that will go live on May 15th at 1 AM PDT. Until the fix goes live, players can ‘press RT before releasing LT to build walls’ as a temporary workaround for the issue.

This time last year, which was the first winter season in Fortnite, Epic added a variety of themed aesthetics to the map, including Christmas trees and Snowball Launchers. It’s very likely that these types of things will make a return this time around as well, but players are expecting Epic to go above and beyond for this holiday season. That being said, here are five things we would like to see added to Fortnite that would make the game more festive for the winter. Of course, some, if not all, of these items may never see the day of light, but they would certainly make things a lot more interesting than just some Christmas trees. However, we think it’d be interesting to see the following make it to the game. Customizable Vault Dweller Jumpsuit skin Fortnite has released customizable skins throughout the years, the superhero ones being one example. In these, you can change your head style, suit color, pattern, and many others. And with Fortnite x Fallout coming, this would be a great addition to cosmetics. Picture this: a Fallout jumpsuit skin that allows you to customize the number on your outfit. It would make so much sense, seeing as Fallout has so many different vaults. Bonus points if you can change hairstyles too! Functional Pip-Boy The Fallout universe has taught us that the Pip-Boy isn’t just a cosmetic for your character but an important device that lets you access information, open a Vault, and many other things. One fun way this can help spice up the Battle Royale is if it functions similarly to augments. This could be an item that gives you the option to choose a unique buff for the rest of the game. After all, it’s been a while since augments were available in the game, and some players have claimed they missed them. Power Armor mythic Things haven’t been the same since I used Power Armor for the first time in Fallout 76. Walking around in the bulky yet powerful special armor type simply felt so cool. Suddenly, I was immune to fall damage and had slight damage and radiation reduction, making it so convenient to complete tasks. It might seem overpowered to have something like this in the Battle Royale. But given that the Power Armor actually uses up Fusion Core, it’d be interesting to see if there’s a Power Armor mythic with limited resources. And to get more Fusion Core, you’ll need to head to outposts and defeat some NPCs. Fallout 76 Nuke As a Battle Royale, Fortnite is no stranger to chaos. With the next season’s theme giving massive post-apocalyptic vibes, I imagine having a Nuclear Missile that works like in Fallout 76 would add an element of surprise to the Battle Royale. The way this could possibly work is that players need to take over specific locations or POIs to get a Nuclear Keycard, and then use it to select an area on the map to blast. The affected area will inflict radiation damage, but the tradeoff is that it’ll spawn better loot. Ghouls Lastly, we’d like to see Ghouls appear in the next season, whether in the form of cosmetics or NPCs. If it’s the latter, they could occupy some areas on the map and jumpscare players and attempt to eliminate them after passing a certain point — similar to how certain POIs in previous Fortnitemares work with enemies and bosses. That being said, here are five things that Fortnite needs for it to become ready for esports. Private/Custom Matches This is almost a no-brainer and fully obvious inclusion for Fortnite esports. Not only would private and custom matchmaking be needed for competitive tournaments and events, they would also be needed for pro teams to start scrimming with and against each other for practice. Viable Scoring System Scoring would be one of the biggest and most important aspects of competitive Fortnite and would thus need to be addressed. A viable scoring system would include appropriate weighting for certain facets of the game such as kills, wins, damage dealt, total time alive, and more. Competitive Rule-Set This would limit potential confusion and misunderstanding, and allow players and teams to set strategies and amend their playstyles in order to fully fit the official rules. Reduce the Randomness (RNG) Fortnite currently uses a Random Number Generator (RNG) system to determine the results of things in-game, including bullet registration and looting. Reducing the randomness in the game would definitely contribute to making it more consistent for esports. This could involve having a rotation of predetermined safety circles and loot chests, a recoil system instead of “weapons bloom,” and more. Professional Fortnite League Having a professional league for Fortnite would create a stable foundation for its esports scene. This could either mean a franchise based league that Overwatch and League of Legends use, or the promotion/relegation system of Call of Duty. In Fortnite Season 5, Epic Games introduced crossovers with everything from G.I Joe, God of War, and Halo to The Mandalorian and Predator. It seems like there is no limit to what the game is compatible with. But what’s coming next? Prominent leaker HYPEX has been hard at work trying to find an answer to that question, and he’s found some evidence hidden within the data. He’s built a strong case, including some audio leaks, suggesting a crossover with the immensely popular survival horror game Five Nights at Freddy is on the cards. HYPEX compiled a YouTube video to showcase everything he’s found. First, he describes a series of encrypted skin files codenamed “FrenchFry.” Traditionally, the first letter in every codename matches the first name of a character the skin is based on. For example, Tyler Blevin’s skin was codenamed “TourBus.” For that reason, he’s quietly confident that it could be a reference to Fazbear or Foxy from Five Nights at Freddy’s. But that’s not all he found. There are also seven files with sounds resembling Foxy’s footsteps in Five Nights at Freddy’s. The evidence appears to be quite substantial. However, the whole thing seems like a bit of a stretch, and it’s hard to tell whether it’s true or a false alarm. Five Nights at Freddy’s skins would undoubtedly be a popular choice in Fortnite. They even fit in with the overall aesthetic. But it would make more sense to release the crossover during Halloween, which isn’t until October. Chest locations at the various points of interest and around the vast Fortnite map are pretty well known by the majority of the community, but even gamers who have played since its inception may not be aware of some places were loot commonly spawns. Where are the secret loot spots in Fortnite? Picking up an extra weapon, ammo or healing item could be the difference between you securing an elimination or returning to the lobby – use these five secret loot spots to boost your chances of landing a victory royale. Lucky Landing Present since Season 3, Lucky Landing is one of the most underrated drop spots for players who prefer to land passive, with 14 chest locations and two vending machines as well as hoverboard and quadcrasher spawns. The biggest building in Lucky Landing is the three-storied building to the South, but the building to the left also contains two chest spawns and plenty of floor loot. Players may be unaware that one of the roof tiles in the building is a loot spawn so after opening the bottom floor chest, break the roof and build a ramp to see what lies above. Lucky Landing Shrine Located just outside of Lucky Landing, the shrine is also a fantastic place to loot with three potential chest spawns and plenty of ammo boxes – check it out before heading into Fatal Fields. The three chest locations are all on top of each other and the shrine is pretty easy to navigate. However, there are two floor loot locations that you wouldn’t think of checking – head to the north side of the shrine and break the two outside walls to see what you can find. Pleasant Park/Retail Row Pleasant Park and Retail Row are two of the original point of interests on the Fortnite map, surviving the various map changes over the seasons. While both have had changes to their layout, they remain two of the most popular landing spots in the community as the same buildings can be found at both locations making looting much easier. A common drop for players is the house with a kennel, named dog house by most. After looting the chest in the side roof – not many players realize there is a floor loot spawn on the opposite side above the garage; use your pickaxe to see what lies in wait. Dusty Divot Shack This spot isn’t located at one of the main POI’s but could come in handy if you’re in desperate need of some weaponry or healing items. A small shack can be found just outside of Salty Springs next to the house near the road to Dusty Divot and has one of the most well-hidden floor loot spots on Fortnite. After breaking into the shack, remove the floor and spam the interact button on the grass underneath and if you’re lucky you will find an item that could save you from elimination – we were able to find a clutch slurp juice! Fatal Fields Fatal Fields is one of the few locations that has been present on the map since Season 1 and is still a fantastic looting spot with 20 chests spawns and two vending machine locations. Players should know about the chest spawn next to the main house which can be found by breaking the large metal silo. However, unknown to many, the second silo is also a floor loot spawn and is always worth hitting as well to add to your loadout. So, there you have it, five looting spots on Fortnite that you didn’t know about – bear in mind as these are floor loot spawns, you aren’t guaranteed to find an item there, but anything is possible. However, the gun was later updated to be hit scan and the common variant was vaulted meaning it’s now an extremely viable mid-range option. Leaks found an epic and legendary variant of the Infantry Rifle that could be introduced in the near future with @KnapperigeLeaks able to showcase what the gun could look like in-game. Fortnite founder’s pickaxe Fortnite had promised users who had purchased the Save the World game would be rewarded with cosmetic items in the battle royale mode. These skins were finally made available in the v5.10 update, giving STW users the legendary Warpaint and Rose Team Leader outfits. Leaks suggested that Fortnite would be adding a harvesting tool to the bundle. However, it has since been revealed that the pickaxe has disappeared from the game code in the v8.2 content update suggesting it may never be obtainable. According to leaks, a carrot item was also set to be implemented but there is still no sign of their presence. Before this teaser, there were almost no clues about what Season 8 would entail, with the exception of an earthquake looming on the map. There were also hints at a ‘Cracken’ in leaks, which was believed to be the name of the next in-game event. A ‘Kraken’ (with a K), is also a mythical sea monster – known for devouring sailors and pirate ships. Instead, the small helmet that some eagle-eyed fans spotted during the Unvaulting event takes pride of place. The hype is already starting to build for Season 9 – and you can get a few new style for the Sidewinder, Ember and Master Key cosmetics by completing the recently announced Overtime Challenges. First official Fortnite Season 10 teaser hints at return of Dusty Depot After weeks of speculation, Epic Games have finally released for the first teaser for Fortnite Season 10 during the solo World Cup final. Season 9 is rapidly drawing to a close after a massive battle took place on the map between the Cattus monster and the Doggus robot. Ultimately, the monster was slain after the intense showdown which left a giant orb at Loot Lake – something which could directly affect the new season. Before the start of each season, Epic Games release teaser images, giving fans a glimpse of what to expect when it finally releases. The first picture for Season 10 was released during the Fortnite World Cup solo finals. Epic Games release first Season 10 teaser The first teaser shows players a completely rebuilt Dusty Depot, which brings us back to where we started. Dusty Depot has seen numerous changes over the seasons after being hit by a meteor, but it will be recovered in Season 10. Fortnite Season 10 – what we know so far Fortnite Season 10 is expected to release on August 1 after the current season was extended due to the World Cup. While players were competing in New York, fans were given the first hint as to what the new season could consist of. A leak on the PlayStation store showed the Fortnite Battle Bus with a large ‘X’ symbol in the background. With the number 10 in Roman numerals written with the letter ‘X’, it was speculated that it may correlate directly with the next season. Will Season 10 have a battle pass? First official Fortnite Season 11 teaser hints at “The End” of the map With Season 11 just around the corner in Fortnite Battle Royale, Epic Games have finally released a teaser for ‘The End’ event and possibly Chapter 2. The ending of Season 10 and subsequent launch of Season 11 in Fortnite has a lot of players understandably excited about what lays in store for them in the popular battle royale title. However, with just two days to go, there had still not been any official teasers released about the new season, which worried some fans as Epic, in the past, have usually started posting them several days ahead of time. Finally, on October 11, they tweeted out the first teaser image, which ironically turned out to be one that had already been leaked several weeks ago and used countless times in reference to The End event. The tweet came with a caption as well: “The End is near. 48 hours…” indicating that The End event will be kicking off at 11 PM PT / 2 PM ET on October 13, something which had already been determined by the floating in-game countdown timer. It’s likely that Epic will follow this up with another teaser on October 12, probably tweet it out around the same time, which would be 24 hours before the event kicks off. What does this new teaser tell us? There are two main things that this image tells use. Firstly, it essentially confirms what everyone has known for a while, that the transition between Seasons 10 and 11 will be called The End, which is going to be an in-game event in all likelihood. Secondly, it reaffirms all of the theories and leaks that there is going to be something drastic that happens involving the current Fortnite map. The two most realistic scenarios are that the map will either be completely destroyed and a brand new one will be added, or a lot of what currently exists, such as the biomes and named locations, will be removed and replaced with new ones. Soon after, a countdown began on the main menu. According to newly-datamined Fortnite leaks, dug up by popular code-dippers FortTory and VastBlast soon after the v12.61 patch downtime began, this is all leading to the biggest shakeup since Season 10’s black hole event. Doomsday event to bring lighting strikes, gravity rocks, more New gameplay cues were added to Fortnite’s backend that detail major destruction coming at the end of Season 2. The sirens also continue to blare. There’s no confirmation all of these leaked Fortnite elements will be linked, but considering the battle royale currently has a huge Doomsday device waiting to go off in the center of the map, however, it’s a pretty good bet they are.

First look at Batman x Fortnite crossover in-game L: Warner Bros R: Epic GamesThe first official in-game teaser confirmed the imminent arrival of a Batman crossover event in Fortnite. Fortnite has yet another major crossover event coming to their game just before the close of Season X. Arguably DC Comics’ biggest name, Batman, is coming to the world of Fortnite and he’s bringing his gear and the whole city of Gotham with him as Tilted Town is set to transform. This will now be the second superhero crossover to come to Fortnite, joining Marvel’s The Avengers. If you head to Tilted Town you’ll notice the Rift Beacon is once again active, signifying another change is coming to the already transformed location. Even if you didn’t already know about the numerous leaks surrounding the event, there’s one major hint that has already arrived and it’s the Batarang that’s stuck in the hay bale right next to the beacon. The crossover comes around the same time Batman Day occurs, which is on September 21. It’s the 80th anniversary of the Dark Knight so Fortnite is helping us celebrate the occasion. Epic Games made the three Rocksteady developed Batman Arkham games along with three Lego Batman games all available for free on their storefront, so make sure you pick those up too. There’s no set starting date for the Batman event to begin but we can definitely expect it at least in time for the new update. Rift Beacons usually signify a change in location is near. Tilted Town will now undergo two major transformations in the same season, something that can’t be said for the other locations on the map. Along with the new location, a few new weapons are arriving and perhaps even a Batman skin. It’ll remain to be seen if that really happens. First look at Fortnite’s new Prop Hunt mode revealed at E3 Vikkstar123 – YouTubeA brand new Prop Hunt mode is coming soon to Fortnite Battle Royale, and players have now gotten their first clean look at it thanks to the E3 gaming convention. Prop Hunt has been featured in a variety of popular shooter games, most notably in numerous installments of the Call of Duty series. A light and arcade-style mode, it splits the players into two teams – one side posing as ordinary objects and hiding on the map, and the other team trying to find these camouflaging players to eliminate them. Following leaks that the mode was coming soon to Fortnite, many of the top content creators in attendance at E3 were given a chance to try it out ahead of its release. One YouTuber who play-tested it was Vikkstar123, giving his audience a clear cut look at the format and gameplay of Prop Hunt in the popular battle royale. How Prop Hunt works in Fortnite At the beginning of the match, text appeared on-screen explaining the rules and how it works, calling it a “hide and seek with a twist.” In its current state, the mode consists of two round, with the players on each team switching roles between rounds. Speaking of the enemy team, known as the Hunters, they must use their “wits and weapons” to try and figure out which objects are actually players in hiding and take them down, earning two points for every elimination. After the two rounds, the team with the more points wins. Popular streamer DrLupo also gave fans a sneak peek of the Prop Hunt mode by tweeting out a clip of him playing a match, in which he was posing as a flamingo and attempting to evade enemy Hunters. The Baller in Fortnite is just as ridiculous as you imagined – first footage The V8.10 Update for Fortnite officially released on Tuesday, March 12, and brought with it a brand new vehicle, The Baller – along with a whole host of other changes. The Baller, which had been leaked with the start of Fortnite Season 8 as a ‘hamster ball’, is a single-occupancy vehicle which has a Grappler attached to the front. While it may not have the deadly power of an X-4 Stormwing attack plane, it certainly brings a big change to the battle royale game – with the opportunity to create some hilarious moments as the ball goes flying through the air with it’s grappling ability. The vehicle can be found at Expedition Outposts and around Pirate Camp loot stashes – meaning that going in search of one will also be dangerous as you’ll be exposed to enemy fire. However, should you find one – hilarity is sure to ensue. Cloud9 Fortnite streamer Joseph ‘Keeoh’ Winkler has already shown that the vehicle can be paired with another new addition to Season 8 – the Pirate Cannon – to get some wicked air time. After being stuck with the grapple by his teammate, Keooh climbed into a Cannon on top of the Pirate Fort and shot himself, and his partner, flying across the sky – proving that the new vehicle can, at least for now, go flying too. While the vehicle may not seem as deadly as other in-game vehicles, it looks quite possible that you’ll be able to send enemies flying if they stumble into the path of the vehicle’s swing. The Baller is included in the V8.10 update and is live now following an hour’s worth of downtime. So, hop on into the Battle Bus and go and try it out for yourself – but just be aware of other players trying to get their roll on too.

After rocketing to mainstream success with his 2018 album Astroworld, Scott was known to be a Fortnite fan, as he dropped into the battle royale island alongside Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and fellow rapper Drake. Fortnite has come a long way since that stream two years ago, with countless skins and cosmetics added to the game, including one for Ninja himself. Now it looks like Travis Scott might be next up. The prospect of a Travis Scott skin was first leaked back in February, just after the Season 2 update went live. Suddenly, a new Cosmetic Set with the rapper’s name appeared in the game files, but there were no assets to go with it, meaning we had no idea what the skin itself would look like. BREAKING A Travis Scott cosmetic set was added in v12.00 This confirms some form of collaboration between him and Fortnite. Despite the fact that the NFL uniform skins, pickaxes, gliders, and emotes don’t become available for purchase until November 9, certain content creators have been given the chance to rock these cosmetic items a few days early. This includes Twitch superstar streamers Ninja and TimTheTatman, both of whom are die-hard fans of the NFL, and more specifically, the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys respectively. So it doesn’t come as a surprise that they both displayed the colors of their favorite teams when they first got the chance. Here are images of Ninja donning the Lions jersey skin with the number 23, which is worn by one of his favorite players Darius Slay. TimTheTatman showed off some of the new NFL cosmetic items in his inventory while deciding to go with #82 on his Cowboys jersey, in honor of the recently retired and iconic player Jason Witten. First look at the Fortnite World Cup Finals stage in New York City The stage has been set for the Fortnite World Cup Finals in New York City and we’re getting our first look at it in all of its beauty. The World Cup Finals festivities kick off on July 26 and run through until the the 28. This event will feature a variety of events including the finals for the Creative Cup, Solos, Duos and the Celebrity Pro-Am. It’s a jam-packed weekend and that means having an amazing looking stage is at the top of the priority list. Just see for yourself. We knew that since the event was being held in New York that Epic had something major up their sleeve but it was hard to expect it to be like this. Fortnite has usually done a good job at having a creative looking design, as we’ve seen from the very beginning with the first Celebrity Pro-Am and have seen carried on into the Summer, Fall, and Winter Skirmishes. First look at the new Mounted Turret in action in Fortnite Battle Royale The V6.30 Update for Fortnite Battle Royale officially released on Wednesday, November 14, and with it brought the new Mounted Turret. Interestingly, Epic Games have classed the Mounted Turret as a Legendary Trap item, and not a weapon, making it the first trap which players can sit in and control. The item can be found in Supply Drops, Floor Loot, Vending Machines and Supply Llamas, and comes with unlimited ammo – although players won’t be able to fire the Mounted Turret constantly as it will overheat after extended use. The Mounted Turret can only be placed on floors, and makes the floor piece it is sitting on invulnerable to damage, meaning enemy players can’t destroy the area it’s sitting on to take it out. The weapon description states that the Mounted Turret will help “keep enemy players at bay,” and judging by this clip from ‘KaiX‘, it certainly seems like it will be able to do just that. The Mounted Turret appears to have a high rate of fire, and deals around 40 damage points to an enemy player when they are shot by the heavy duty item. It also tears through enemy walls and ramps, destroying them in seconds, meaning this item could be perfect to use when attempting to take down an enemy base. The Mounted Turret is included in the V6.30 update and is live now, available in all game modes, so hop into the Battle Bus and go and try it out for yourself.

First look at Summit Striker starter pack coming to Fortnite Battle Royale The name of an upcoming starter pack, ‘Summit Striker’, was discovered in the Fortnite game files following the v6.21 update, and now data miners have uncovered images of what it will look like. Fortnite first added started packs in March 2018, just as the game began to peak in popularity, as a way of introducing new players to the V-Bucks microtransaction model and get them started on buying skins. It typically gives players a skin, a back bling and some bonus V-Bucks, all at a discounted price from what it would cost to buy the V-Bucks and cosmetic items separately. According to the game files, the Summit Striker pack will include 600 V-Bucks, the Summit Striker skin and back bling called ‘Top Notch’. Both these skins are of the ‘Epic’ rarity, but whether they will convince players the purchase is worth it or not remains to be seen, as some players have complained in the past that starter pack skins are too basic. Epic Games has made no official announcement about this upcoming starter pack, and so there is no official release date or price set. The pack’s file name does include ‘Season 6’ in it, but considering Season 6 is almost coming to a close, it is perhaps delayed until the start of Season 7, although the starter pack’s are usually separate any of the season driven ‘lore’ of Fortnite.

First-look at “secret skin” leaked for Fortnite Chapter 2 Fortnite Battle Royale players have been grinding their way through weekly challenges with the target to eventually obtain a “secret skin” at the end of Chapter 2’s Season 1, and it looks like it’s finally been leaked for all to see. The popular battle royale game has a wide selection of different skins for fans to purchase in the Fortnite Item Shop, and a boatload have even been available to pick up in weekly challenges as well, for Battle Pass owners. Those who purchased this season’s Battle Pass were delighted to see that there was an extra incentive to collect hidden items, as those who find all of the hidden letters to the word ‘Fortnite’ were promised a skin that we’ve never seen before. Now, weeks after the season began, it looks like data miners have finally revealed what it looks like. Previous seasons have had legendary skins to work towards throughout the season, tasking players with leveling up their Battle Pass to a certain point before giving them a new outfit. This time, though, all you need to do is find the missing letters. It’s made quite easy by Epic Games, too, who hide clues in each of their weekly loading screens. These can be obtained by completing weekly challenge sets. It also appears to have three different styles, which will presumably all be unlocked in one hit. Some players may be disappointed that the new skin isn’t more extravagant, but, whatever your opinion, you have to admit that she’s wearing a nice jacket.

First look at new Tilted Town – Fortnite v10.0 Content Update map changes Epic GamesThe v10.0 Content Update would bring major changes to the BRUTE mechs, the biggest alterations came to the landscape of the island, with the sprawling metropolis of Neo Tilted removed thanks to another Rift in the game’s skyline. Replacing it is Tilted Town, an old fashioned location with brand new buildings and some major changes, mixed with some nods to the classic Tilted Towers that we all know and love. Noticeable from the moment you drop in is the massive Rift above the town, which appears to have created a protective shield around the former city that players will have to walk or fly through to enter Tilted Town. Once you’ve penetrated the bubble, your screen will take on a sepia effect to match the old fashioned feel of the new location, while your character will don a long black coat to help them blend in with their surroundings. Inside the town, gone are the massive skyscrapers that dominated the skyline, instead replaced with rickety wooden buildings. The massive buildings in the center have been reimagined as a hotel, which sits as the biggest building in the revamped location. Beside it sits a smaller store, while across the street a large new red-wood building, which looks a lot like the barn found at Fatal Fields has been turned into a bank. For fans of the original Tilted Towers, the legendary clocktower which has been a part of the point-of-interest from its inception is back, but perhaps not how many would have expected. Unlike in previous iterations of the city, the clocktower is still under construction in Tilted Town, with scaffolding surrounding it as they continue to work on the new building. Thankfully, the clocks have been brought to the location, but you’ll have to wait and see if work is finished on the site before Tilted Town disappears again. The underpass in the city has also been redesigned, with the road underneath turned into a river, while a wooden bridge allows players to cross from one side of Tilted Town to the other. Players can visit the new Tilted Town location right now, but be warned, the protective shield does force you to play the game differently than you’ve ever done so before. That’s because anyone who enters Tilted Town won’t be able to harvest material or build, so you’ll have to rely on your gun skills to make it out of the western location alive.

First look at leaked Fortnite Season 10 Dark Legends cosmetic bundle Riot GamesA brand new Fortnite Season 10 Dark Legends skin bundle has potentially been leaked, with a number of never before seen styles being revealed ahead of schedule. Numerous skins have been added to the popular battle royale game during the course of its landmark tenth season, including Battle Pass favorites Catalyst, X-Lord, Yond3r, and others. However, fresh sets of cosmetics always go down a treat with the online community and after seeing this leaked information surface online, there’s a good chance that more skins are going to be coming soon to the Fortnite Item Shop in the near future. So, let’s take a look. A set of brand new cosmetics have been leaked by VastBlast and LeakyFMBR, posting them to Twitter on September 3, including not only new skins styles, but also pickaxe and Back Bling as well. The complete contents of the Dark Legends bundle leak can be found below, with the designs seemingly taking a dark spin on popular skins that have been in the game for a long time – such as Jonesy and Wild Card. Leaked images include Dark Red Knight, Dark Wild Card, Dark Jonesy, and Dark Axe, all of which look very different to anything else we’ve seen added so far in Season 10. The leaked information also includes a Dark Back Bling, which looks like a dark purple colored shield of some sort, although it’s difficult to tell due to the image quality. Whether or not this skin pack will be added any time soon remains to be seen, but as the season ages, we can certainly expect to see more and more bundles appear in the Fortnite Item Shop. Judging by these photos, this bundle could prove popular should it be released.

First look at Fortnite’s Deadpool Yacht leaked, and it looks insane Epic GamesEpic Games appear to be preparing a complete overhaul of The Yacht in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2, with Deadpool set to take over the point of interest. A first-look at the soon to be revamped spot has been leaked, too. Players who regularly drop from the Battle Bus will know by know that there were new locations added at the beginning of Season 2, but also new agencies as well – Shadow and Ghost. In previous weeks, we have seen Shadow vs Ghost challenges – where agents compete against each other to complete objectives – and the rivalry has gone a step further, too, with destinations on the map being changed by the teams. While many might be expecting The Yacht to soon be claimed by one or the other, it seems Deadpool will have something to say about that. Following the release of the v12.30 update, Fortnite leakers and data miners have been hard at work, searching for details to reveal ahead of schedule. One of the biggest revelations was a shed load of new content based on the jokey Marvel superhero, including not just a fresh skin style, dual wield pistols and a themed loot drop balloon, but also a Deadpool Yacht – seen below, courtesy of FortTory. Eagle-eyed players will have noticed that there has been a cryptic clue in Deadpool’s calendar in-game, with a circle around one date – Friday, April 3. This would suggest that a Deadpool themed event may kick off on that date, and could be the time Battle Pass owners finally get their hands on his skin.
