FaZe Clan’s Tfue set for extended medical break from Fortnite and streaming UPDATE – March 19, 2019 Tfue tweeted has been on antibiotics for over 48 hours and his neck is still swollen, leading him to go see a specialist about it. Over 48 hours on antibiotics and my neck is still swollen :disappointed: I’m gonna go see a specialist tomorrow — Tfue (@TTfue) March 19, 2019 FaZe Clan professional player Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney could be set for a break from Fortnite due to a problem with his neck, possibly caused from playing too much. Tfue is currently preparing for the upcoming Fortnite World Cup with duo partner Dennis ‘Cloak‘ Lepore but could be forced for an extended period away from the game due to medical reasons. The 22-year-old revealed that he had been prescribed antibiotics to help resolve an unknown issue on his neck and admitted that surgery may be required to rectify the problem for good. Clip courtesy of Tfue. “I’m on antibiotics and if this doesn’t go away I’m probably going to have to get surgery or something,” Tfue explained while playing in the Gauntlet pop-up cup. He believes the problem could be a result of streaming too much and not drinking enough water while gaming. “It’s from playing too much – I was dehydrated when we were playing,” he added. “I was streaming way too much and was waking up with the worst headaches ever.” As shown in the clip above, the problem looks serious and can hopefully be resolved in time for Tfue to compete in the $30 million World Cup event which starts in April. An extended period away from streaming could also have a profound effect on his Twitch channel with his subscriber count likely to plummet if he is forced to take a medical break.

FaZe Clan recruit 15-year-old controller phenom to pro Fortnite team – Dexerto
FaZe Clan recruit 15-year-old controller phenom to pro Fortnite team Twitter – @FaZe ClanNorth American esports organization FaZe Clan have bolstered their already impressive pro team for Fortnite Battle Royale with the addition of a young phenom. On March 12, FaZe announced that they had signed ‘Sway,’ a 15-year-old Fortnite player and content creator who has already made a huge name for himself. Despite his age, Sway has already racked up impressive statistics for his content and social media channels, including over 488,000 subscribers on YouTube, 57,400 followers on Twitter, and 66,800 followers on Instagram. The young prodigee joins a team that is already very much stacked with some of the world’s best Fortnite pro players and content creators, including the likes of Tfue, Cloak, Cizzorz, and many more. Read More: Popular Fortnite streamers share positive reactions to v8.10 update – ft. HighDistortion, Nick Eh 30 and more – Despite already having a strong base in content creation, Sway will certainly benefit from his move to FaZe, especially when it comes to live-streaming on Twitch, where it appears he doesn’t yet have a major presence. Welcome, to our newest member: FaZe Sway! #FaZeUp https://t.co/dpbkrmNVZz — FaZe Clan (@FaZeClan) March 12, 2019 Known for almost exclusively using the Dark Bomber skin, Sway has established himself as one of the top Fortnite players in the world thanks to his incredible in-game talent. A deadly combination of editing speed and precision makes him a fearsome opponent in any build-fight, and even the slightest line of sight is all he needs to display his shooting accuracy. Some highlights of his gameplay can be seen below, and the fact that he can play like this while using a controller on PC makes it all even more impressive. Sway is not the first under-18-year-old to be signed to a pro Fortnite team, and he certainly won’t be the last. While orgs may have been wary of recruiting on underage players in the past, things have changed now with Epic Games confirming that the Fortnite World Cup will be open to all players who are at least 13 years old. This means we should expect to see a lot more similar roster moves in the near future, as the World Cup qualifiers are set to take place April 13-June 16, with $1 million in prize pool money available each week.

The Fortnite star, who was first signed by Faze in May of 2019, posted an apology to his Twitter just before his team announced the suspension. “I can’t even describe how sorry I am,” the young pro wrote. “I did not intend to be hurtful in any way but what I said was still hurtful, insensitive, and wrong.” “The word shouldn’t have been in my vocabulary and I apologize from the bottom my heart to everyone I offended by using it,” he continued. “You deserve better” I can’t even describe how sorry I am. I did not intend to be hurtful in any way but what I said was still hurtful, insensitive, and wrong. The word shouldn’t have been in my vocabulary and I apologize from the bottom my heart to everyone I offended by using it. You deserve better — Dubs (@Dubsfn) February 29, 2020 Dubs isn’t the first Fortnite pro to face consequences for something they said on stream. Back in 2019 Erik ‘Bloodx’ Guttormsen ‘parted ways’ with esports org Eleven Gaming after allegations he also used a racial slur, though in that case it wasn’t captured on stream. It remains to be seen whether or not Dubs will return to represent FaZe fully after the suspension, and how the situation will affect his competing going forward.

FaZe Clan Pro Player Tfue Demonstrates His Incredible Building Techniques in Fortnite – Dexerto
FaZe Clan Pro Player Tfue Demonstrates His Incredible Building Techniques in Fortnite One of the biggest features of Fortnite: Battle Royale is the game’s unique building mechanic that allows players to create structures in-game. The building aspect of the game gives players who have mastered it a big advantage in various situations and especially in gunfights. One such player who has consistently demonstrated a strong mastery of building in Fortnite is Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney. who is a member of FaZe Clan’s pro Fortnite team. His ability to quickly build intricate structures in tight situations has played a big role in him becoming one of the best Fortnite players in the world. Read More: Friday Fortnite $10,000 Winners Typical Gamer and SoaR Thief Discuss Their Win, Fortnite Esports and Beating Pro’s – On May 22nd, Tfue shared his building techniques on Twitter by tweeting out two videos of complex structures he built in-game. The first is what he calls the ‘2 Layer Double Ramping’ technique. EZ Builds https://t.co/vM8rIDoNOk https://t.co/LujtWTBSDV https://t.co/MnelmOpKfV pic.twitter.com/AQ4nYhvEtz— FaZe Tfue (@TTfue) May 23, 2018 The second video takes things a step further as he uses the in-game replay feature to demonstrate how to build another heavily reinforced ramp. Not only is the complex nature of these structures impressive, it is perhaps the speed and precision with which he builds them with that is most remarkable. The biggest advantage of these types of builds is that they contain many reinforcements and it would take opponents a long time to fully knock them down, thus allowing the player to maintain a height advantage when shooting at enemies. Anyone who practices enough to excel at building these types of structures is sure to see a drastic improvement in their Fortnite gameplay.

FaZe Clan Fortnite Star TFUE Hacked Across His Twitch, Twitter, and YouTube Accounts – Dexerto
FaZe Clan Fortnite Star TFUE Hacked Across His Twitch, Twitter, and YouTube Accounts Fonts2U / NoCamelsNo one with a big presence on social media wants to go through the hassle and humiliation of getting their accounts hacked. Unfortunately for FaZe Clan pro Fortnite player Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney, that is exactly what happened on August 7. Sometime during the day, waves of tweets began appearing on Tfue’s Twitter page, and it became quickly apparent that he had lost control of his Twitter account The tweets were full of malicious language and hate speech, some of them were even directed at other big-name content creators such as Ninja, Myth, and KEEMSTAR. In fact, the hacked eventually did indeed go live on Tfue’s Twitch channel, streaming Fortnite straight from a Playstation 4 console. Despite knowing that the streamer had gotten hacked, thousands of viewers were compelled by their curiosity to tune in and watch the very short stream. FaZe Clan parts ways with Fortnite pro Cented after using racial slur on livestream – Dexerto
FaZe Clan parts ways with Fortnite pro Cented after using racial slur on livestream Instagram: Cented7FaZe Clan has parted ways with Fortnite star Evan ‘Cented’ Barron after the pro player was caught using a racial slur during a livestream. 19-year-old Fortnite pro Cented had established himself as one of the premiere names in the game’s competitive scene prior to joining FaZe in March 2021. Coming off a stint with Team Liquid prior to donning the red and black, he was a six-time FNCS finalist who seemed to have a long career ahead of him. That future is now up in the air after “mutually parting ways” with the team following a July 3 livestream where he entered into a voice chat and immediately dropped a racial slur. FaZe Clan have kicked Fortnite Pro Cented after a clip surfaced of him using the N word. pic.twitter.com/STazGeJwzc — Jake Lucky (@JakeSucky) July 3, 2022 The incident occurred when Cented joined a chat where the pro used racist language while another player was livestreaming. Barron joined a voice channel and immediately greeted his friend with the racial slur before being informed that the stream was live. It didn’t take long for FaZe to take action and remove him from his position on the team. FaZe is constantly evolving and we expect our members to do the same. Cented is permanently removed from FaZe due to his use of hate speech. We, and the gaming community at large can’t tolerate discriminatory language any longer. — FaZe Clan (@FaZeClan) July 3, 2022 Cented has since confirmed his split from the team and issued an apology over the incident, admitting that he knew better than to use speak in that manner but let immaturity take control. “I had all the information in front of me for knowing better and still chose to act wrongly. For that, I am sorry,” he said. This all comes only a month after another incident where a Fortnite pro deleted their Twitter after being accused of going on a racist tirade.

FaZe Clan Fortnite Battle Royale Star Tfue Explains What He Thinks Will Kill the Game – Dexerto
FaZe Clan Fortnite Battle Royale Star Tfue Explains What He Thinks Will Kill the Game TfueFaZe Clan’s Tfue expressed concern about some of the newest additions to Fortnite Battle Royale and predicted a downward spiral in the game’s popularity if things continue in the direction that they are going. Epic Games’ massively popular Fortnite Battle Royale is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the biggest games ever, but some loyal players are beginning to express concern about its future. The developers do an excellent job of keeping things fresh, constantly releasing new updates, items, weapons, and much more to keep players on their toes and change the established meta. While these updates are generally well received, some have caused a division in the scene and competitive players in particular have started to speak out against certain recent inclusions. Read More: Fortnite Battle Royale Developers Explain the Delay for Week 5 Challenges Following “challenges available in 0 seconds” Issue – One of these players is FaZe Clan’s Tfue, who got exasperated during a recent Twitch stream and predicted an untimely demise if things continue going in the direction that they are. After dying to a player using “Hop Rocks” in the Dusty Depot crater, a viewer donated to say that the gravity defying rocks were the worst addition to the game. The FaZe pro player replied with “yeah, I mean, this game is going downhill but… trying to make it work bro”. Tfue, who joined FaZe Clan on April 30th as the replacement for 72hrs, expanded on his point moments later, making his feelings about recent additions very clear. “Yeah, I mean, if this game keep adding dumbass shit, bro, I’ll probably, honestly, end up quitting. But hopefully they stop adding dumbass shit to the game. But, you know, you never know, they’ll probably kill this game just like H1. [H1Z1]” Of course, Tfue’s concerns and opinions are his own and millions of players around the world are still perfectly happy with the direction that Fortnite Battle Royale is going in. As a professional player hoping to pursue a possible career in a future Fortnite esports scene, Tfue’s vision for the game is likely very different from the average casual player, who plays a handful of games a night for fun. Either way, Fortnite’s reign at the top shows no sign of ending any time soon.

FaZe Clan’s Fortnite Battle Royale Player Tfue Hits the Perfect Grenade Launcher Rebound Shot – Dexerto
FaZe Clan’s Fortnite Battle Royale Player Tfue Hits the Perfect Grenade Launcher Rebound Shot Twitter @TTfueFaZe Clan’s latest addition to their professional Fortnite Battle Royale team hit an incredible trick shot with the Grenade Launcher during a recent match to show exactly why he’s on the roster. Fortnite Battle Royale might be one of the most enjoyable games to have been released in recent years but that doesn’t mean there isn’t an incredibly high skill ceiling. The fact that some players are much better than others is no great secret but few people are aware of the fact that a professional scene is already starting to grow with some of the world’s biggest esports organizations picking up teams. One of those organizations is FaZe Clan. With international titles in everything from CS:GO to Call of Duty and PUBG, FaZe will be expecting nothing less than excellence from their Fortnite roster. The most recent addition to the team, Tfue, joined on April 30th as the replacement for 72hrs. Some fans are now looking at FaZe the teams to beat as Tfue was widely regarded as one of the best free agents out there. During a recent stream Tfue showed exactly why he has earned that reputation when he calmly lined up an incredible bank shot with the Grenade Launcher to win a match in incredible fashion. Even Tfue is surprised by how perfectly the shot lines up as it directly impacts the opponent player and blows him into oblivion. The professional Fortnite Battle Royale scene is unlikely to take off properly until Epic Games implements custom matches as a permanent feature in the game. But FaZe Clan is sure to be a scary team to mess with when there are players like Tfue around.

FaZe Clan Announce The Real Fourth Member of Their Fortnite Pro Team, and It Is Not RiceGum – Dexerto
FaZe Clan Announce The Real Fourth Member of Their Fortnite Pro Team, and It Is Not RiceGum FaZe Clan have revealed the newest member of their professional team for Fortnite: Battle Royale. The powerhouse esports organization has announced BR player Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney as the fourth member of FaZe Fortnite. Tfue joins a star studded roster that also includes Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore, Thang ‘SpaceLyon’ Pham, and Brendan ‘Jaomock’ O’Brien. The roster move was announced on April 30th via a post on the official FaZe twitter account, along with a clip introducing the new player and some of his best gameplay. WELCOME, FaZe Fortnite’s new 4th: FaZe Tfue. @TTfue #FaZeUp pic.twitter.com/zC9VhADDXc — FaZe Clan (@FaZeClan) April 30, 2018 I N T R O D U C I N G F A Z E T F U E :point_right: @TTfue #FaZeUp pic.twitter.com/NTW8l4A4Lx — FaZe Clan (@FaZeClan) April 30, 2018 Tfue also had this to tweet out in reaction to the announcement of his move to the FaZe pro Fortnite team. This sort of news was expected after former player Thomas ’72hrs’ Mulligan was released from the team days ago. However, FaZe decided to have some fun with the roster changes, initially announcing that their new fourth was going to be popular YouTuber Bryan ‘RiceGum’ Le. The joke was quite elaborate as FaZe, RiceGum, and the other players on the team all made some sort of post on social media about the surprising move, with the YouTuber even assuming the new name ‘FortGum.’ Unfortunately, as hilarious as it would have been, this new team was never to be as FaZe Clan announced FortGum’s retirement from professional Fortnite in a comical tweet. :loudspeaker: ANNOUNCEMENT :loudspeaker: Unexpectedly, Bryan “”Fortgum”” Le has retired from Esports. FaZe Clan announce update on Fortnite pro Cloak’s future – Dexerto
FaZe Clan announce update on Fortnite pro Cloak’s future FaZe Clan have offered an update on the future of Fortnite star Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore amid the ongoing lawsuit with teammate Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney over a contract dispute. Tfue revealed on May 19 that he was suing FaZe Clan over what was described as an “oppressive” contract, with his long-term friend and teammate, Cloak, revealing his deal was similar; which resulted in him trying to end his association with the org for over six months. The 24-year-old said on his Twitch channel that the statement released by FaZe, which indicated they were exploring options to transfer him to another team, were “completely false” and reiterated that his desire is not to join another org. Cloak open admittedly that he felt that FaZe would not have been open to his departure had he qualified for the Fortnite World Cup alongside Tfue, but now it appears FaZe Clan are willing to meet his demands, stating they intend to grant Cloak ‘restricted free agency’. Although it may appear he has finally left the org, they will still retain his player rights should he wish to join another team at a later date, rather than focus on his solo career. #Fortnite: Announcing @FaZeClan’s intent to grant @cloakzy with Restricted Free Agency FaZe will not pursue a transfer on our own, and allow Cloak to represent himself moving forward. We will retain his player rights should he wish to be moved elsewhere at a later date.#FaZeUp — #FaZeUp (@FaZeUpdate) June 23, 2019 Therefore, should Cloak decide to pursue a contract with another organization – potentially 100 Thieves or the org that Tfue is rumored to want to set up – they will have to negotiate with FaZe, who have the option to match, approve or reject the offer. Whether the gamer will be able to pursue brand deals without affiliating with a team, remains to be seen, but the TwitchCon winner should reveal more details about the arrangement in the coming weeks. Has Tfue left FaZe Clan? Cloak’s teammate Tfue remains locked in a legal battle with the organization after his lawyer revealing shocking new details of his original contract – as well as contradicting the claims of co-owner Ricky ‘Banks’ Banks that FaZe would do anything in their power to keep him on the team. His lawyer stated he believes Tfue will get out his deal “one way or another,” but no official announcement has been made at the time of writing.

FaZe Clan announce signing of 13-year-old Fortnite pro – Dexerto
FaZe Clan announce signing of 13-year-old Fortnite pro FaZe Clan has announced their newest signing who just so happens to be their youngest Fortnite pro ever. FaZe Clan has quite the footprint in the Fortnite esports world with the like of Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney and Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore paving the way. However, the team is still growing its roster in Fortnite and on March 22 they added the youngest Fortnite pro ever to the roster. The newest member of FaZe Clan is 13-year-old H1ghsky1, who actually had his signing leaked by TSM Myth on March 19. “How’s FaZe Clan?” asked Myth before realizing his crucial mistake. “Wait, was it not announced yet? What I meant was, how’s phasing through builds?” Meet the new youngest member of FaZe Clan… :handshake: @FaZe_H1ghSky1 pic.twitter.com/7lCPyfDgAP — FaZe Clan (@FaZeClan) March 22, 2019 H1ghSky1 is the newest member of FaZe Clan FaZe Clan celebrated the signing of H1ghSky1 by releasing a short video showing some of his highlights he has compiled as a Fortnite pro. Many current members of FaZe Clan responded to the tweet congratulating H1ghSky1 on becoming the youngest member of the team ever. Before the announcement, H1ghsky1 was already a partnered Twitch streamer so it’s not like he just came out of nowhere. With this signing, you can probably look to see H1ghsky1 gain even more popularity as he’s undoubtedly one of the youngest Fortnite pros in the business right now. FaZe Clan has shown a tendency to ignore how young a player is and focus more on their abilities in a game instead. FaZe signed a 15-year-old player before signing H1ghsky1 Earlier in March, FaZe recruited 15-year-old Sway to their team, who also had a sizable following before joining FaZe, including 488,000 subscribers on YouTube. Perhaps most impressive is that Sway uses a controller on PC and still manages to hold his own against players using mouse and keyboard. Epic Games has confirmed the Fortnite World Cup will be open to all players who are at least 13 years old which is why we might be seeing these new signings announced.

FaZe Clan recruit World Cup-bound Fortnite superstar Mongraal – Dexerto
FaZe Clan recruit World Cup-bound Fortnite superstar Mongraal Mongraal – Twitter / FaZe ClanFaZe Clan have added another superstar player to their professional team for Fortnite Battle Royale, further bolstering their aleady-impressive roster. FaZe Clan’s pro Fortnite roster is already considered by many to be among the best in the world, if not the top one overall. Now, that already-stacked roster has only grown in strength, after the organization announced their newest member – 14-year-old British pro player Kyle ‘Mongraal‘ Jackson. Mongraal was formally announced by FaZe on July 7, completing his transfer from Team Secret, the only other organization he’s ever played for professionally. He will represent FaZe in the upcoming Fortnite World Cup in New York City, New York, as he’s qualified for both the Solos and Duos events that will be held at the $30 million event. #Fortnite: Announcing the transfer of Fortnite Professional player Kyle “”Mongraal”” Jackson from @teamsecret to @FaZeClan.@Mongraal will compete with FaZe Clan at the upcoming Fortnite World Cup from July 27th-28th, where he is qualified in both the Solo & Duo events.#FaZeUp — #FaZeUp (@FaZeUpdate) July 7, 2019 Mongraal’s name first caught the headlines last August, when he joined Team Secret as 13-year-old, becoming the youngest professional Fortnite player in the world at the time. Already considered a household name in the competitive community, he sealed his superstar status after qualifying for both Solo and Duos World Cup events, the latter of which was with his longtime duo Mitr0 of Team Atlantis, who himself is the seventh winningest Fortnite player in the world. A fast-paced player with deadly shooting accuracy, incredible building ability, and editing skills that are second-to-none, his addition alone could be enough to push FaZe to the top of the competitive scene. FaZe Mongraal – the perfect Tfue/Cloak replacement? Boasting over 1.3 million followers on Twitch, and a further 1.7 million subscribers on YouTube, Mongraal brings a heavy content creation presence to FaZe, who have just lost their two biggest Fortnite names in Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney and Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore. Tfue is currently engaged in a highly-publicized legal battle with the organization over what he claims was an “oppressive” contract, and equally, his duo Cloak wanted out for months, before the organization finally agreed to negotiate his release. Luckily for FaZe, replacing Cloak with Mongraal may turn out to be a positive, since the former failed to qualify for the World Cup while their newest recruit managed to stamp a ticket to both. Despite his young age, Mongraal will not be the youngest member of FaZe’s Fortnite side of things, as that distinction still belongs to the 12-year-old H1ghSky1. Apparently 11 at the time of being signed, the young streamer admitted that the initial claim that he was 13 was a lie, leading to his Twitch and Twitter accounts being suspended (the minimum age for these platforms being 13). FaZe Clan are as much an entertainment-focused organization as they are esports, and so being a ‘personality’ is also incredibly valuable in any potential members. The organization have also proven their ability to make relatively unknown entities stars, as was the case with both Tfue and H1ghsky1. Combining Mongraal’s already massive fanbase with FaZe Clan’s should be a recipe for success, both on the competitive front with the World Cup approaching, and in terms of content creation and streaming. Currently, they field a whopping 15 Fortnite players, and while none can currently claim the same popularity as Tfue and Cloak, who knows where some of them will be in just a few month’s time. FAZE CLAN FORTNITE PLAYERS: Kyle ‘Mongraal’ Jackson – ‘H1ghsky1’ – Brendan ‘Joamock’ O’Brien – Jason ‘Tennp0’ Wang – Thang ‘SpaceLyon’ Phan – Nate Hill – Trevor ‘Funk’ Siegler – ‘Megga’ – ‘Sway’ – ‘Jarvis’ – Spencer ‘Bini’ Cherubini – Kolbe ‘Diggy’ Cordon – Jonathan ‘Tilt’ DeRoza – Manuel ‘Martoz’ Martinez – Tom ‘Vorwenn’ Baldrich – Danny ‘Dubs’ Walsh –

FaZe Cizzorz’s Fortnite ‘Deathrun 2.0’ obstacle course has been beaten in record time – Dexerto
FaZe Cizzorz’s Fortnite ‘Deathrun 2.0’ obstacle course has been beaten in record time FaZe Clan Fortnite streamer ‘Cizzorz’ obstacle course, entitled ‘Deathrun,’ has become quite the phenomenon within the community and the newest version of it has a new world record. Cizzorz’s original Deathrun was made back in December and ended up being quite the hit, with many prominent streamers taking a crack at it. As such, when Deathrun 2.0 was finally released, everyone was quick to try their wits at the new course, but given that it was even tougher than the first one, beating it is no easy feat. Featuring 14 levels filled with traps, obstacles, and various other precarious challenges, few have managed to get through the entire course period. Of course, nothing ever seems to be impossible when it comes to gaming feats, and that happens to be the case here as someone has managed to blow through Deathrun 2.0 in record time. It took just 10 days for ‘Eskay’ to finish Deathrun 2.0 with an insane time of 7:18. Eskay has a long history with the Deathrun, almost winning the first contest in December with a time of 3:19. The winner of the original Deathrun contest, Suezhoo, beat him by just two seconds. Taking part in these Deathrun contests has likely been a bit of an escape for many players, such as Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop, who have grown tired of the current Fortnite meta. With the growing fatigue of the meta and the $5,000 up for grabs for those who finish the course with the three best times, you can bet there will be plenty more competition for the top spot before long.

Day one of the Fortnite World Cup kicked off on July 26 with the Creative Finals – a $3 million competition featuring the best Creative players in the world. There were eight teams of four players – a prominent figure from the Fortnite community as the captain, and three players who qualified via the Creative Trials that were held over the past few months leading up to the World Cup. The tournament was split into four unique games, called sets, each one consisting of three individual matches. Based on their performances, teams were awarded prize money after each match, and the squad that performed the best over the three matches was awarded with a silver llama. The final game, called Golden Games, handed out a golden llama to the best team, which had greater value than its silver counterparts. The team with the most llamas at the end of the tournament placed first overall and earned a $1 million prize. Set 1 – Sky Station Showdown The first game set was called Skystation Showdown, which required players to try and hold onto the capture points to earn score. The first team to reach 1,000 points or have the highest score when the time expired was deemed the winner. After three matches of play, Funky Fighters earned first place, $100,000 in prize money, and the first silver llama of the Creative Finals. Set 2 – Junkyard Juke The premise of Junkyard Juke was to dodge the defenders and sprint to the center of the map to score points. Each of the three matches featured four rounds of play, with two of the teams being guards and six of the teams being props. Chicken Champions lived up to their namesake in this game, taking first place and $130,000 in prizes, while also securing the ever-crucial silver llama. Set 3 – World Run The third set of games, called World Run, was essentially a giant race to the finish, as players had to travel through checkpoints and pick up as many coins as possible. The team that managed to pick up all 30 coins in the least amount of time was crowned champions of the match, with three total matches played for the set. There was actually a tie in this set, as Fish Fam and Raven’s Revenge finished neck-and-neck after the three matches, each team earning $110,000. However, it was determined that Fish Fam would receive the coveted silver llama for this game, creating a three-way tie going into set four. Set 4 – Golden Games Golden Games, the fourth and final set of the Creative Finals, was a bit more important than the other three because it awarded a golden llama to the best team, which had more value than the silver llamas given out during the previous three sets. Each match was modeled after the other three sets, but with a twist, as a certain aspect of the rules or format were altered to throw the players into a loop. As expected, the matches were all an intense affair, and it was Fish Fam who managed to come out on top after the three rounds, earning back-to-back sets and the golden llama. Final placements for Fortnite World Cup Creative Finals With all four sets of games completed and the scores tallied up, here are the final placements for the first ever Creative Finals at the Fortnite World Cup, along with the prize money that each team got to take home. Remember, this is only the first half of day one of the proceedings, and is followed by the Celebrity Pro-Am, which you can watch live by visiting our dedicated Fortnite World Cup viewing hub. The Duos and Solos finals, which will have a collective prize pool of $30 million, will be played on July 27 and 28 respectively.

FaZe Cizzorz reveals Deathrun 4.0 with ridiculous new levels – release date and how to play – Dexerto
FaZe Cizzorz reveals Deathrun 4.0 with ridiculous new levels – release date and how to play Popular content creator Jack ‘Cizzorz’ has revealed the release date for his eagerly anticipated Fortnite creative Deathrun 4.0 – here is all you need to know should you dare to try it. Cizzorz was one of the first streamers to take advantage of Fortnite’s creative mode to create an assault course which required players to navigate a series of traps to reach the finish line. He revealed in an interview with Dexerto that while he expected the maps to be popular, he had no idea that so many massive content creators would take an interest in them – their popularity allowing the FaZe member to offer prizes to the course’s fastest runners. Cizzorz has given players plenty of time to recover after his last map created a lot of rage induced moments, but has now revealed the release date for his next map – Deathrun 4.0. The 23-year-old announced on Twitter that his latest deathrun installment will be released on July 1, showcasing a brand-new level which involves players phasing through a trap in order to reach the end of the course. It remains to be seen whether Cizzorz will make the code public on this date or allow streamers to try it out first. DeathRun 4.0 is coming…….:flushed::flushed::flushed: TAG a BOT who won’t be able to pass Level 1 :joyful::rolling_on_the_floor_laughing: July 1st. pic.twitter.com/wbuQG8jJ5C — FaZe Cizzorz (@cizzorz) June 29, 2019 How to play Cizzorz Deathrun 4.0 Players can access the Deathrun 4.0 course by heading into Fortnite’s creative mode and entering the 12-digit code into any of the featured islands. Cizzorz is yet to reveal the code to the public so stay tuned to find out when you can test your trap dodging abilities. While the official rules of his latest course haven’t been announced, they should be similar to his previous maps. Items can only be used in their designated stage. – Players can not use respawn invincibility when running through traps. – Players must complete grapple levels using every platform. – Time starts when leaving the FRONT player spawn and stops when you finish equipping a Bush item at the last point. – Given the complexity and difficulty of Cizzorz’s previous courses, proceed with caution when trying out his latest concoction.

FaZe Banks explains why Jarvis’ Fortnite ban is “f**king ridiculous” – Dexerto
FaZe Banks explains why Jarvis’ Fortnite ban is “f**king ridiculous” FaZe Clan owner Ricky Banks has taken to Twitter to blast Epic Games over their decision to ban Jarvis from Fortnite for using an aimbot in Creative. FaZe Clan member Jarvis ‘Jarvis’ Kaye’s ban has sent shockwaves across the Fortnite community as various figures have weighed in on the fairness of his lifetime ban. Epic Games handed out the major ban to the FaZe Clan creator after he uploaded a series of videos in which he used an aimbot on his alt account. Epic has a “zero tolerance” policy for cheaters, regardless of the setting, and thus slapped him with one of the most severe bans competitive Fortnite has seen yet. Banks was quick to point out that proven cheaters, such as XXiF who participated and went on to win prize money in Epic’s Fortnite World Cup went with a light ban in spite of the policy. Meanwhile, the FaZe member was banned for life from a mode that affected no one’s competitive future. The apparent hypocrisy has not been lost on the owner, even calling it “fkn ridiculous.” The fact that XXiF actually cheated in a competitive environment, received just a 2 week ban, wound up taking a spot at World Cup and plays to this day as if nothing happened while Jarvis is banned for life is fkn ridiculous #FreeJarvis — FaZe Banks (@Banks) November 5, 2019 “What Jarvis did was obviously stupid,” Banks said in a follow-up. “It was a mistake and the point has been made very clear. Fortnite is a huge part of his life and I just don’t see the punishing (destroying a 17-year-old kid’s life) fitting of the crime.” Read more: Ninja speaks out on Jarvis’ Fortnite ban – Banks has not been the only person to blast Epic Games for their decision, with both Ninja and xQc coming out in defense of Jarvis. Other community members have begun to rally around the #FreeJarvis hashtag. The FaZe owner has been known to protest decisions made against his members but is also an outspoken member of the esports community. In the past, he’s rallied against the practice of esports franchising, along with being embroiled in his own controversies.

Fortnite: Fastest way to complete ‘Visit three Pirate Camps in a single match’ challenge – Dexerto
Fortnite: Fastest way to complete ‘Visit three Pirate Camps in a single match’ challenge Fortnite’s Season 8 Week 7 challenges require players to traverse across the map and head to a number of different locations, including three Pirate Camps that must be visited in a singled match. If you’re trying to complete this challenge as quickly as possible, here’s a guide to hit all three. The new set of weekly challenges come on the back of the Fortnite V8.30 update, which finally added the new Respawn Van, alongside a number of technical changes that aim to improve the quality of the game for players. Anyone who completes the Fortnite Season 8 Week 7 challenges will receive a special loading screen to help complete the Discovery challenges, but players must finish the seven weekly challenges first – including this one that sees players visit three Pirate Camps in a single match. Where are the Pirate Camps in Fortnite? Pirate Camps were introduced to Fortnite at the start of Season 8, as part of the theme for the season which heavily involves Pirates. Alongside the camps, a new named location was also added, as Lazy Lagoon in the north of the island is home to a massive pirate ship. There seven total Pirate Camps situated on the Fortnite map. The majority of them are in the north of the map, but there are a couple down towards Fatal Fields and Paradise Palms as well. You can view a map of all the Pirate Camps below. What is the fastest way to complete this challenge? This challenge must be completed in a single match, so time is of the essence, as you will want to hit all three before they move out of the circle, or before you get eliminated by enemies. There are a number of different ways to complete this challenge, but gauging the distance and terrain between each camp is important, so we’ve come up with what we believe is the quickest route to hitting all three Pirate Camps in one match. Starting at the Pirate Camp closest to Polar Peak, cut through Tilted Towers towards Loot Lake, and once you’ve hit the one sitting on the hill, it’s a straight line to the third and final outpost. Step-by-step guide to completing the ‘Visit three pirate camps in a single match’ challenge. Visit the Pirate Camp north of Polar Peak – Cut across Tilted Towers, around the bottom of Loot Lake towards the second Pirate Camp. – Head directly south toward Fatal Fields and visit the third and final Pirate Camp. – The use of vehicles will also speed this challenge, but if those are not available, players can run from all three of these points in just over three-and-a-half minutes.

FaZe Banks and Cloak Watch in Disbelief as Coin Flip Decides PAX West Fortnite Summer Skirmish Finalist – Dexerto
FaZe Banks and Cloak Watch in Disbelief as Coin Flip Decides PAX West Fortnite Summer Skirmish Finalist Epic Games | KEEMSTAR YouTubeFaZe Clan’s Ricky ‘Banks’ Banks and Dennis ‘Cloack’ Lepore were left in both shock and hysterics and while watching a controversial tiebreaker at the $1.5 million PAX West Fortnite Summer Skirmish tournament. The final day of qualifiers saw two players in join 33rd place (the final transfer spot to the finals on September 3) and eventually it came down to a coin flip to decide who moved on in the competition! This left FaZe’s professional Fortnite captain, Cloak, and team owner, Banks, in a state of shock as they watched the event on Cloak’s Twitch stream: In a state of disbelief, Banks can be heard exclaiming “If this motherfucker flipped a coin in front of me and told me I wasn’t moving on, I don’t know what I would do!” Cloak spends the majority of the clip in hysterics as Banks continues to shout “WHAT IS THIS SHIT?!” and point out that the unfortunate loser of the flip, Colton ‘Colton’ Masters, had not just lost out on a chance in the finals, but also a staggering $5,000! While spectating FaZe men are clearly finding the entire situation funny, they also make it known that they don’t particularly approve of the entire situation. And they weren’t the only ones – a number of fans, players and personalities expressed their concern at the randomness of the tiebreaker when so much money is on the line, including OpTic Gaming’s Robert ‘WizKay’ Simone: Epic Games have stood by their decision, making it clear that the two players could not be told apart by any other means and that the coin flip was a last option and one that players were aware of. Either way, with new suggestions ranging from 1 vs 1 Playground Mode deciders to more detailed statistics allowing for tiebreaks based on damage, it seems unlikely that that Cloak and Banks will be left in such hysterics in future tournaments!

Fast X director wants to make Fortnite movie: “It’d be funny” – Dexerto
Fast X director wants to make Fortnite movie: “It’d be funny” Epic GamesFast X director Louis Leterrier has expressed interest in creating a Fortnite film adaptation by saying, “there’s so much more to be told.” During the production of Fast X, Leterrier was hired as a replacement for Justin Lin. He is also set to helm the 2025 sequel. In addition to directing the tenth Fast & Furious installment, Leterrier has worked on the first two Transporter films, The Incredible Hulk, and Clash of the Titans. Besides purely action flicks, he also directed the action-comedy movie The Takedown. However, Leterrier now wants to chart unfamiliar territory by producing a film based on the battle royale game Fortnite. Keep reading to discover why he chose Fortnite from all the other possible adaptation options. Fast X director calls Fortnite an “incredible” game As reported by Screen Rant, Leterrier attended a director’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con with Gareth Edwards and Justin Simien. There, the French director revealed that he hoped to bring Fortnite to the big screen. “I would direct a Fortnite movie because the game is incredible,” he said. “The characters… I mean there’s so much more to be told. It’d be funny. It would be full of action and everything.” This hasn’t been the first mention of a possible Fortnite film. In 2021, Epic Games reportedly hired Star Wars producers to work on an adaptation of the battle royale. However, the project allegedly never left the discussion phase, as official plans were never announced. While Fortnite hasn’t received a movie, the free-to-play title has featured several crossovers with popular franchises. Past collaborations include John Wick, Stranger Things, and The Mandalorian. If Leterrier does direct a Fortnite film, it would hardly be the first video game adaptation. The Super Mario Bros. Movie has established itself as one of the most successful video game movies of all time by surpassing $1.35 billion at the global box office.

Fans are demanding Fortnite fix broken backblings on female skins – Dexerto
Fans are demanding Fortnite fix broken backblings on female skins Epic GamesFortnite players have noticed a similar theme with the backblings on female skins with long hair and are urging for a change. Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 brought many new cosmetics to the game. This includes the new battle pass that follows a new theme around Myths and Mortals. However, not all cosmetics are centered on Greek mythology. Each season introduces a new Starter Pack, which consists of skin packs available for around $5. These packs come with one skin, pickaxe, backbling and vbucks. But the most recent addition has brought attention to a glaring problem. Fortnite players point out issues with female skins A post on Reddit brought players attention to how backblings look on the new Starter Pack. Instead of it laying flat against the skin’s back, it instead hovers behind the hair. “Every skin with long hair like that does it,” said one commenter. “Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande and The Cube Queen.” Others agreed that similar skins with longer hair have been having this problem for seasons. With some saying that hair any longer than normal, would be better off without a backbling at all. “Its crazy because they KNOW how to fix it,” said another. “With loserfruit’s skin the ponytail moves to the side with backblings. With Kyra her ponytail SHRINKS with backblings! TWO solutions yet nothing is done… I have to go without a backbling for long hair skins for now,” Fortnite occasionally does cosmetic updates for skins. However, there haven’t been plans announced by Epic Games that say whether or not the ponytail debacle will be resolved.

Fans call for streamer to be banned for stream sniping Ninja during Fortnite Winter Royale qualifier – Dexerto
Fans call for streamer to be banned for stream sniping Ninja during Fortnite Winter Royale qualifier Fortnite fans are calling for streamer PLP_JSaturn0 to be disqualified from the Fortnite Winter Royale after a clip taken from his Sunday, November 25 stream suggested he may have been stream sniping Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins. Both Ninja and JSaturn0 were competing in the qualifiers for the Fortnite Winter Royale, where European and North American players were ranked based on performances in a special tournament playlist. The Top 200 from each continent would progress to the Winter Royale Finals. During his stream, JSaturn0 was sitting inside a structure he had constructed at Greasy Grove, when he suddenly edited a window into one of his walls, and began firing at a wall, shouting “Ninja! Ninja!” as he did it. Read More: Tfue, NateHill, SypherPK and more react to missing out on $1 million Fortnite Winter Royale – Fortnite fans questioned how JSaturn0 knew a player was there, and how he knew that the player behind the wall was Ninja, even though it didn’t appear to show his name on screen. This led fans to believe that JSaturn0 likely had Ninja’s stream on in the background, and realized the two were close while watching his opponent’s gameplay. Blevins proceeded to watch the sequence back from JSaturn0’s perspective using Fortnite’s Replay mode. Ninja refrained from accusing his opponent of stream sniping, instead choosing to watch quietly until the end, where he stated: “He had to have seen me. He’s looking through it right now. I think he sees me break in through the wall, and then he edits down, opens the wall and starts shooting.” Ninja was involved in a stream sniper controversy earlier in November when he reported a player who he believed to be stream sniping him, which turned out to be false. Epic Games have yet to comment on the clip or on the possibility that JSaturn0 could be disqualified from the tournament, however, if the developers are able to prove that this was the case, it’s likely he will be removed from the competition for breaking the Fortnite Code of Conduct.

Fan replicates NICKMERCS’ Halloween costume as a hilarious concept skin in Fortnite – Dexerto
Fan replicates NICKMERCS’ Halloween costume as a hilarious concept skin in Fortnite A fan of Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has made a concept Fortnite skin that shows what the popular streamer’s recent Halloween costume would look like in-game. On October 31, in honor of Halloween, the 100 Thieves streamer went live on Twitch wearing face paint that made him look like the iconic Frankenstein monster. While many of his viewers were quick to playfully poke fun at him for it, Nick used his charismatic personality to pull off the costume quite successfully. However, even though Halloween is now well over, some of his fans have not quite been ready to let go of his costume, as one of his viewers created a full replica of it as a concept Fortnite skin in-game. The skin is called Frankemercs and comes in Legendary rarity, with a whopping price tag of 2 million V-Bucks. That would approximately come out to $14,800 USD. We NEED FrankenMercs in the shop for #fortnitemares 2019. Thx in advance @FortniteGame @NICKMERCS#nickmercs #fortnitefanart #100Thieves #mfam pic.twitter.com/HJkbBiOS0k — The Final Hoss (@TheFinalHoss) November 6, 2018 The effect of the concept skin is both hilarious and actually quite clever; the character’s face resembles Nick’s quite well, and the MFAM logo is emblazoned perfectly on the shirt. Even the description of the skin, which reads “Listen, don’t wanna f****n’ talk about it,” is definitely up Nick’s alley in terms of what he would say. In fact, the designer paid so much attention to detail, that even the flip-flops that the skin is wearing in the image are themed after the Michigan football team, which Nick is a huge fan of and has deep ties to.

Fan transforms LEGO bricks into a real-life Fortnite adventure – Dexerto
Fan transforms LEGO bricks into a real-life Fortnite adventure Reddit: Angelbg34One LEGO Fortnite fan took it upon themselves to recreate the feeling of running through caves with actual LEGO bricks. LEGO Fortnite has been loved by thousands since its release on December 7 as one of the three new game modes of Chapter 5. The survival-based mode broke a million followers during its first week and still maintains hundreds of thousands. Despite multiple Fortnite skins getting LEGO-fied versions for the new mode, there has yet to be an official release of any LEGO sets or characters. This lack of product availability has forced some fans of both franchises to get creative with their own LEGO bricks. Bringing real in-game situations to life to be put on display. LEGO builder brings Fortnite’s NPC’s tough jobs to life Villagers play a significant role in LEGO Fortnite by gathering resources, building items, and joining the player on expeditions around the map. One Redditor posted an image of the LEGO set that they had built. The inspiration? Having their villager deal with the skeletons in the caves while they collect resources. “I tried to do as best as I could with the pieces I had,” said the poster. “I even added a spider underneath a rock, so lifting the rock attacks you like in the game. The shield is not accurate, but I had no other shield or item. There’s even a log on the floor, a scorpion, and something to emulate the roots coming out of the walls.” Commenters praised the post for the build’s uncanny resemblance, with one user going so far as to declare it indistinguishable from an official LEGO set. “Honestly a sweet set,” said one user. “Looking forward to seeing you on the front page when the official minifigs release, and you can make even more scenes.” LEGO has yet to reveal any official merchandise or set collaborations with Fortnite. So, for now, fans will have to use the LEGOs they already have to bring the game into the real world.

Fan favorite Fortnite character returning in next update but there’s a catch – Dexerto
Fan favorite Fortnite character returning in next update but there’s a catch Epic GamesOne Fortnite character that was last seen years ago is returning in Chapter 5 Season 4, and here’s what you should know. Remember Klombo? According to well-known leaker ShiinaBR, the creature will be added back into Fortnite in the next update. Not in Battle Royale, though. Rather, it will be returning exclusively in the game’s LEGO mode. Previously, we caught a glimpse of Klombo in Fortnite’s leaked 2024 roadmap. However, during a 7-Day 24/7 LEGO Fortnite Big Build Livestream, one of the hosts accidentally revealed it early, matching the info from the leaked roadmap. When asked about including an Easter Egg in an upcoming build, the host said, “Oh, my gosh, that’s a great idea. Chat, why don’t you pick what Easter egg element we should put inside the Klombo?” The slight pause after mentioning “Klombo” instead of “build” makes it even more likely that it was an accidental slip-up. For the uninitiated, Klombos are massive-sized wildlife creatures that can be seen roaming the island in the Battle Royale. First introduced in Chapter 3, Season 1, feeding it with its favorite food, Klomberries, will allow you to get some useful loot. Aside from feeding it Klomberries, you can also ride on its back and even get launched in the air to help you reposition. Of course, like other creatures, it’s possible to damage it. However, this isn’t recommended as it’ll just end up hostile, and you won’t be able to kill it anyway. It certainly didn’t take long for the creature to make its way to the community’s heart after its appearance, thanks to how adorable it is. Like Fortnite’s rotating weapons and items every season, however, it didn’t stay permanently in the game. Klombo was vaulted in the next chapter after that, and we haven’t seen it return to the game after all these years. It’ll be interesting to see what additions the adorable creature will bring to Fortnite’s LEGO mode in Chapter 5, Season 4.

Fan claims a test server would be the perfect way to solve Epic Games’ Fortnite woes – Dexerto
Fan claims a test server would be the perfect way to solve Epic Games’ Fortnite woes With all of the debate surrounding content updates on Fortnite Battle Royale of late, one fan believes that there should be a test server added to the game. The idea would be to introduce the option of a test server in the game’s main menu, which would allow players to drop into a game and test out all of the new content before it’s added to the full game. This could prevent controversial situations from occurring in the future, as they have done in the past with the addition of the Infinity Blade, X-4 Stormwing attack planes and, more recently, the Boom Box before competitive tournaments. The concept, which was posted to Reddit by user Welchingg, states that playing in the test server would not have an impact on your personal Fortnite statistics and would allow players to “test new additions to the Battle Royale experience” before they are introduced. “With the community in constant uproar over new items being added, I think it’s time we get this Epic” said Welchingg. The addition of Boom Boxes in Fortnite has went down like a lead balloon so far with the competitive community, with Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani saying that Epic is “trolling” at this point. It has been speculated that the release of these new controversial items have been quite intentional from Epic in the past, though, with OpTic Crimsix claiming that it’s the developer’s strategy to roll out content like this to get a reaction.

Fan concept for new LTM in Fortnite is perfect for the competitive community – Dexerto
Fan concept for new LTM in Fortnite is perfect for the competitive community Despite the addition of in-game tournaments, Fortnite players are still looking for ways to scratch that competitive itch and this concept would be perfect. As the Fortnite meta continues to evolve on an almost weekly basis, many aren’t satisfied with the options currently available for competitive play. Epic Games added tournaments to the game with the V6.10 update in October, but this new concept would be a completely different spin on competitive Fortnite. The concept was posted to Reddit by ‘realTheCrafter’ and would be a competitive take on the Playground mode that’s currently in the game already. Whereas Playground has become a way for dedicated players to practice builds and other strategies on their own, this mode would be focused on getting battle training in a real setting. Rather than having a full lobby, the LTM would see just 30 people load into a lobby with the game starting right after the 3rd circle has closed. Players would also load in with a bevy of materials and a full loadout to get the fighting started immediately. After going through what each player’s loadout would look like, realTheCrafter lists the many reasons why he thinks this mode would be perfect for those wanting a competitive fix. With many lamenting the current state of competitive Fortnite, whether it be due to heal-offs or camping in 1x1s, this mode could eliminate this by forcing players into the thick of battle without the need for the slower phases of the game. Read More: First look at the new NFL skins and cosmetics in Fortnite, courtesy of Ninja and TimTheTatman – Given that Epic just added two LTMs to the game in the form of Blitz and Team Terror, it’s unlikely this could be added anytime soon, but it’s nonetheless another example of the creativeness of the Fortnite community.

Family holiday ruined after kids spend all the money on 65,000 V-Bucks in Fortnite A Reddit user has been left to count the cost after revealing a family holiday had been spoiled, with his niece and nephew using their savings to purchase Fortnite V-Bucks without his knowledge. V-Bucks are the virtual currency used by Epic Games allowing players to purchase the various skins, harvesting tools and gliders that are released in the item shop, as well as each season’s battle pass and tiers. Skins can start cheap at around 800 V-Bucks, worth roughly $10, but more extravagant designs can cost players at least $24.99 to add to their locker. Reddit user u/A_Sad_Frog was left to rue his decision to allow his young niece and nephew to use his PlayStation account after they acquired over 65,000 V-Bucks despite having a verification number linked to his payment card. He revealed that the children had spent around $531 on his account, bypassing the security measure by topping up their PlayStation wallet before each purchase. Posting on the popular ‘Today I Fucked Up’ subreddit, the regretful PlayStation owner explained: “All told, £422.90 ($531) had been siphoned out over a week, with most of the bombardment happening yesterday. By the time I got back into to account to assess the damage, 20,000 vbucks had already been spent. “I saw that the Playstation wallet can be topped up before each purchase, so they must have paid for it by first buying wallet currency, which apparently didn’t require a code.” To make matters worse, the money was siphoned out of an account used by his girlfriend to save up for her family trip in the US – leaving her with virtually no spending money for the holiday. He added: “I feel so terribly terribly guilty for putting my girlfriend in this situation, the kids are upset that they did it. We’re not a rich couple, and this one has hit us both pretty hard.” Epic Games offer hope Unfortunately for the family, the PlayStation store doesn’t offer protection against accidental purchases and the bank is unlikely to help either. However, Epic Games may come to the rescue after community coordinator Sean ‘MrPopoTFS’ Hamilton responded to the Reddit thread asking the original poster to get in contact so they can help solve the problem. As over 20,000 V-Bucks have already been spent, it remains to be seen whether the user will receive any of his money back as although the purchase wasn’t intended, many items are likely to have been bought using the funds. For now, we can only hope to receive an update on the situation in the near future.

Falsely banned Fortnite players given unique reward from Epic Games – Dexerto
Falsely banned Fortnite players given unique reward from Epic Games Epic Games warned Fortnite players that they were violating the rules by spectating solo games. Now, they are apologizing for that and rewarding anyone who received a warning. On November 4, players were explaining on Reddit about warnings they were receiving after spectating solo matches while waiting for their teammates to finish up their matches. The warning in question claimed that players were “teaming” which obviously wasn’t the case as they weren’t even in a match in the first case. The problem likely arose by some sort of automated system and now Epic Games are apologizing for scaring those players. Following these inaccurate warnings, Epic Games made an attempt to right the wrong by providing players with free V-Bucks. V-Bucks are the currency that allows players to purchase new skins and cosmetics, so they are much appreciated. Players are reporting they have been gifted 1,000 V-Bucks, which would be enough to purchase the Battle Pass if they haven’t done so yet. Reddit user Slqthy posted a screenshot of the message players are now receiving, which lets them know incorrect action was taken against their account. At the end of the day, players who were warned ended up getting a free 1,000 V-Bucks for doing pretty much nothing. Not a bad day at the office! Bans and suspensions have, of course, been a major topic in the world of Fortnite over the past few days, especially after star FaZe Clan content creator Jarvis was handed out a permanent ban from Fortnite for using an aimbot. He didn’t use it in a competitive setting but he used one nonetheless and the developers have no tolerance for behavior like this. So while players may have been receiving free V-Bucks from Epic for their troubles, it doesn’t look like Jarvis will be getting similar treatment anytime soon.

Family Guy creator finally speaks out on Peter Griffin Fortnite skin – Dexerto
Family Guy creator finally speaks out on Peter Griffin Fortnite skin Epic Games/Getty ImagesFamily Guy creator Seth Macfarlane has finally offered his views on the swole Peter Griffin Fortnite skin and how the idea of a collaboration came about. Here’s what they said and how fans reacted to it. Fortnite, a game renowned for its diverse and fanciful collection of cosmetics, has once again raised the bar with the introduction of the Peter Griffin skin, incorporating the iconic character from the animated television series ‘Family Guy’ into the frenzied Battle Royale domain. When the Chapter 5 Season 1 Battle Pass arrived, the character was finally brought to Fortnite. However, players noticed that the in-game version of the character was different from the one on TV. To prepare Peter to fight enemies in Fortnite’s looped island, an animated short featuring Meowscles was published alongside the new season. In the clip, Peter is shown turning “Swole” and muscular. This “jacked” version of the character created confusion, particularly among the show’s fans. Now, Seth Macfarlane, creator of Family Guy, has spoken out about the collaboration and his thoughts on the skin. Seth Macfarlane finally speaks about Peter Griffin Fortnite skin In the premiere event for Peacock’s new show Ted, Seth Macfarlane, the voice behind the titular character and creator of Family Guy spoke to IGN about the Peter Griffin Fortnite skin and his collaboration with the game. When asked about the collab he said, “It was great. I had to have someone explain to me what the f**k Fortnite is and then I said well that sounds kinda cool. Yeah, why not, let’s do it.” He also added how throughout his career he figured out things about pop culture through someone usually and just got around it. When asked about the Peter Griffin boss on the Fortnite map and his jacked appearance, he commented, “I was told that they didn’t have the budget to create his actual body, so they had to like stick his head on a.. So it was like that TV Guide cover from the 90s where they stuck Oprah’s head on Ann Margret’s body.” Looking at the chance encounter several fans turned in their comments on social media. One such fan said, “Lmao Seth never fails to make me smile.” Another chimed in, “Fortnite doesn’t have the funds to make a Peter Griffin model? Wut?” A third user added, “That makes sense lol.” The Peter Griffin boss in Fortnite is a formidable NPC who wields a powerful Mythic Hammer Pump Shotgun and does the iconic “knee hurt” emote when eliminated, which perfectly embodies the hilarious spirit of the character in the game.

Fallout fans praise Fortnite for “genius” use of Wasteland currency – Dexerto
Fallout fans praise Fortnite for “genius” use of Wasteland currency Epic GamesFortnite players found a small detail in the Fallout collab that cleverly implements wasteland currency via Nuka-Cola bottles. Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 has introduced a few Fallout-themed items, one being a Nuka-Cola power-up that players can find scattered across the map to restore health and shield. But what’s most interesting about this new addition is the animation that plays when consuming the bottle’s contents. X user Swag Fish captured footage of the short sequence, which depicts the player character chugging Nuka-Cola before popping the bottle cap in their pocket. Because bottle caps are the currency of Fallout’s desolate wasteland, pocketing a cap in Fortnite rewards a single gold bar. No one should expect to get rich by collecting cola bottle caps, but this one detail is going a long way with the community. Fans of both Fallout and Fortnite are nothing short of impressed by the development team’s attention to detail. One person shouted Epic Games’ praises and wrote, “Holy f***ing shit this is f***ing genius.” Someone else chimed in, “Little things like this are why I love Fortnite. They take way more time with their collabs than any other game and do extra like this.” Others were also quick to applaud the studio on another brand collaboration done “right.” Reads one such reply, “Fortnite always does their collabs so right.” Nuka-Cola represents just one part of the Fallout x Fortnite crossover. Season 3: Wrecked also features a T-60 Power Armor skin, Mister Handy Back Bling, and Tri-Beam Laser Rifle. The season launched on Friday, May 24, and is expected to last throughout the summer, presumably coming to an end on Friday, August 16.

FaZe Tfue has hilarious encounter with player using his name at Korea Open – Dexerto
FaZe Tfue has hilarious encounter with player using his name at Korea Open Tfue, YouTubeFortnite pro and popular streamer Turner ‘FaZe Tfue’ Tenney flew to South Korea for the 2018 Fortnite Korea Open, where he had an unexpected encounter with another player using his handle. Tfue recorded the encounter in a vlog of his tournament experience, which he uploaded on December 22 – a week after the massive event took place. Tfue found out about his doppelganger the night before the Open, discovering that they went by the handle ‘Faze Tfueo_o.’ He expressed some humorous anxiety about meeting with the competitor, claiming that he’d have to be “careful” should he face off with the player. “Alright, so supposedly there’s someone in the tournament tomorrow named FaZe Tfue, and it’s not me,” he explained. “He’s a Korean fan, so I gotta be careful tomorrow. …if this guy kills me in this tournament I’m losing my shit, I’m getting up, pooping on my hands and throwing it at him.” Tfue confronted the ‘fake Tfue’ just before the tournament began on December 15, who appeared to be mildly shocked and surprised to meet the pro. https://dotesports.com/fortnite/news/tfue-and-kittyplays-win-fortnite-korea-open The player explained that he was a fan of Tfue after politely shaking his hand, with Tfue and his crew joking about the identity of the “real Tfue” all the way. Both Tfue and streamer Kristen ‘Kittyplays’ Michaela ended up taking the Open in first place for the Duos main event, earning a reported amount of $1,000,000 for charity.

Fallen Love Ranger promo art hints at new Fortnite location for Season 8 – Dexerto
Fallen Love Ranger promo art hints at new Fortnite location for Season 8 Fortnite’s new season has been shaking up Season 8, and a promo image for the Fallen Love Ranger could be hinting at the game’s event opening a new point of interest on the map. Epic Games have dropped hints through various ways in the past for upcoming additions to the game, and this time a clue in for the official art of a skin could be a look at the immediate effects from a major earthquake. Reddit user TheOldDavid spotted what seems to be a new temple-like location set as the background for one of the game’s latest skins. TheOldDavid didn’t think it looked like Tomato Temple due to the distinct statues and layout of the structure. Further speculation led some to believe that this could be an underground location which will be uncovered as the earthquakes in Fortnite ravage the land. The theory might not be so far off, as some fans might recall the events in Season 6 led to a tornado lifting a part of the land high above the ground. Season 8 could hold a similar fate for a POI affected by a natural disaster if the earthquakes eventually turn into something more severe. Even though some disregarded the image as just an element of lore for the skin, other believe the possibility of it being a significant clue for a future POI is still there. Fortnite fans might not have to wait much longer as the earthquake’s presence in the game is being felt a lot more day-by-day.

FaZe Tfue finally buys a Fortnite skin after reaching crazy Twitter Retweet goal – Dexerto
FaZe Tfue finally buys a Fortnite skin after reaching crazy Twitter Retweet goal Many people thought they would never see the day when FaZe Clan’s professional Fortnite player Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney would purchase a skin again from the in-game store. Incredibly, that day has finally come, as Tfue purchased the ‘Bullseye’ character on Tuesday, November 6. Tenney posted a tweet earlier on in the day, stating that if his tweet got 100,000 Retweets, he would buy a skin live on stream. 100,000 RETWEETS AND ILL BUY A SKIN :joyful: pic.twitter.com/AudrdUjI9n — FaZe Tfue (@TTfue) November 7, 2018 Unsurprisingly, the tweet immediately blew up, quickly receiving the required number of Retweets, meaning the FaZe Clan star was forced to live up to his word. The pro Fortnite player hilariously put some dramatic music on in the background, as he navigated his way through the menus to the buy shop. “You might ask yourself, what does this skin even mean if I have so many skins?” pondered Tfue, as he clicked on the buy button. Tenney then pretended to become emotional, as he faced the reality of knowing that he had purchased a skin on Fortnite. “They ruined my perfectly good account. It doesn’t even matter anymore man,” cried Tfue, as he rubbed the imaginary tears from his eyes. To see Tfue buying a skin came as a shock for some fans, as the FaZe star has become well known for using the ‘Jonesy’ character. The pro Fortnite player had vowed never to purchase another skin after his first account which had over $5000 worth of skins on it was banned back in the summer, but it seems Retweets were enough to convince him to change his mind. Tenney was forced to wear a different skin during the Fall Skirmish finals at TwitchCon back in October, but it didn’t seem to affect him too badly there, as he went to win the tournament and a massive $255,000.

FaZe Tfue gives his opinion on the Grappler/Double Barrel shotgun combo – Dexerto
FaZe Tfue gives his opinion on the Grappler/Double Barrel shotgun combo FaZe Clan’s Tyler ‘Tfue’ Tenney has given his thoughts on the current Grappler and Double Barrel shotgun meta in Fortnite. Tfue was broadcasting Fortnite when he spotted an enemy building off the side of a structure close to Flush Factory. Thinking quickly, Tfue was able to use the Grappler to zipline his way up into his opponent’s base, before eliminating him with the double-barrel shotgun. The FaZe member seemed to immediately feel sympathy for his fallen adversary, saying “imagine looting for the whole game, just so someone could grapple/double barrel you.” Tenney went on to give his opinion on the meta, stating; “Epic, I hope you’re listening man, get it gone. Get rid of it. It’s too much”, and leaving little no doubt that he’s not a fan. This maneuver has become extremely popular with Fortnite player thanks to the Grappler’s ability to quickly fire players into situations that they normally would need to build up to, alerting their enemy well before their arrival. Read More: Fortnite fan submitted a Legendary Port-a-Fort concept moments before the Port-a-Fortress was announced – The double-barrel shotgun has come under scrutiny from fortnite fans due to it’s incredible power. Most feel it’s by far the best weapon to use at close range, and TSM Daequan took to Twitter to suggest balancing solutions in an attempt to bring the power of the shotguns closer together. Epic Games are well known for listening to fans feedback, and adjusting items and weapons in game if they feel they are too powerful. In the last update, they vaulted the Drum Gun, and they also famously vaulted the jetpack item when they felt it was too strong. There has yet to be an announcement about the future of Fortnite’s meta the Grappler, but Epic’s regular updates and patches mean that fans of the game are rarely kept waiting long for a change.

FaZe Nate Hill says aspiring Fortnite players can’t complain about lack of opportunity – Dexerto
FaZe Nate Hill says aspiring Fortnite players can’t complain about lack of opportunity Do amateur Fortnite players have enough opportunity to turn pro? That was the spontaneous debate that broke out in the Fortnite community, drawing strong opinions from both sides of the argument. It all started when Nate Hill criticized aspiring pros for complaining about the lack of opportunities, saying “if you didn’t go to pax and freeze your ass off in the rain at 4:30 AM waiting in line to game, I don’t want to hear ‘epic doesn’t give the little guys chances to play.’” CLG Marksman seemed to agree and responded, “LOLOL right? Where the f*** were they during open qualifiers in the rain at 50 degrees for 4 hours.” LOLOL right? Where the fuck where they during open qualifiers in the rain at 50 degrees for 4 hours. — CLG Marksman (@Marksman) November 17, 2018 Some community members did not agree with Hill, complaining about the lack of non-LAN opportunities and saying traveling to PAX is not an option for everyone. Spend thousands of dollars to get to Pax to not even guarentee a spot? No thank you. There needs to be more non-LAN chances, because these small guys can’t shell out thousands to comoete like you can. — Sammiek135 (@Sammiek_135) November 17, 2018 I was busy being poor because my job doesnt pay me or give me hours. Feelsbad. — Shammy (@iShammyy) November 17, 2018 Nate Hill argued that he was able to to just that before making it big, traveling to Ninja’s Fortnite event in Chicago with very little money. EmadGG, a smaller streamer who played in Skirmish events, also explained how he was able to get to an event. I commuted to ninja Chicago with essentially no money in my bank account with no recognition promised from it. Hella bills to be paid in a couple weeks. You have to want it — Nate Hill (@NateHillTV) November 17, 2018 Nate your so right bro. people ask me how did you get invited into skirmish. I answer, i didnt. I spent all my money in my account, borrow $500 from my dad, flew from Florida to Seattle, waited in the rain shivering for 5 hours each day, just to even have a CHANCE at competing. — E11 EmadGG (@EmadGG_) November 17, 2018 The debate even brought in Trevor May, the professional baseball pitcher and Fortnite player who has experience on what it means to turn pro in both digital and traditional sports. May played Swiss and agreed with both sides of the argument, first backing Hill by saying “Nate is right though. Regardless, sacrifice is going to be high if you REALLY want it.” Read More: Top Fortnite streamers come to defense of Ninja after Reddit witch hunt to “ruin his career” – However, May seemed to disagree that wanting it means doing things that simply aren’t possible for some people or involve chance, like getting big on Twitch or flying across the world, arguing the Epic can make the path to pro clearer. “There isn’t a lot of opportunity [for Fortnite players to be noticed], I agree. Baseball has a pretty clear path, even if it’s hard as shit to reach in the end,” said the pitcher. He thinks Fortnite, and esports in general, has a way to go to reach the scouting systems and opportunities of traditional sports. Fortnite (or all of esports tbh) is extremely random and based on networking. So there’s a lot to be done there. I think there’s some solutions coming. Nate is right though. FaZe Clan’s Tfue killed by hacker in Fortnite’s Pop-Up Cup – Dexerto
FaZe Clan’s Tfue killed by hacker in Fortnite’s Pop-Up Cup FaZe pro Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney had one of his Fortnite Pop-Up Cup games ruined by a player using an ‘aimbot’, eliminating him from extreme distance without missing a shot. The Pop-Up Cup was introduced to Fortnite by Epic Games as a place to test experimental ideas which can limit players health and materials but in a competitive atmosphere. However, for Tfue, there wasn’t much competitive about this clip. The Fortnite professional, who is one of the most successful players in the Battle Royale game, was not happy with part of his recent online Pop-Up Cup experience and you really can’t blame him given the circumstances. It’s not the first time either, as Tfue was also taken out by a hacker in Fortnite’s Winter Royale back in November. Playing in the Duo Pop-Up Cup alongside Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore, the pair found themselves in trouble from the circle and used a Rift to escape from Frosty Flights. While he was gliding back in from the rift, Tfue was beamed by a waiting player below and knocked out of the game. His FaZe Clan partner fell to the same fate as they were taken out by an extremely accurate rifler who, shockingly, didn’t seem to miss many – if any – shots from distance. While Tfue did not make any accusations about the player being a possible hacker on stream, he took his frustrations to Twitter. The Fortnite professional player tweeted “Aimbot-Up Cup,” clearly still angered by what had happened to him and his duo partner in their game. Cheating and hacking has become somewhat of an epidemic in the Battle Royale game. Uber popular streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins caught another hacker during his stream on December 15. The former Halo professional quickly reported the apparent cheat when they gained a kill that Ninja’s viewers were unable to see. Ninja has also called upon Epic Games to find a solution for Fortnite’s many stream snipers, stating that if anyone can find an answer to the problem “It’s Epic.” Want to test your Fortnite knowledge? FaZe Clan’s Tfue proves he’s a Fortnite god with insane Quadcrasher play – Dexerto
FaZe Clan’s Tfue proves he’s a Fortnite god with insane Quadcrasher play FaZe Clan star Tyler ‘Tfue’ Tenney has proved he’s still one of the best Fortnite players in the world with an amazing Quadcrasher maneuver. The American was playing solos on the popular battle royale game, and was driving the brand new Quadcrasher vehicle around the map searching for enemies. When Tfue finally made it to the storage unit area south of Tomato Temple, the FaZe member came across a player who decided to try and take down the professional Fortnite player. Tfue immediately used the Quadcrasher’s boost abilities to soar into the air, switched from the driver’s seat to the passenger’s, pulled out his sniper rifle and fired off an incredible shot that connected with his opponent while the Quadcrasher flipped through the air. The FaZe star’s enemy was clearly rattled, frantically building walls in an attempt to save himself from Tenney’s incredible aim. Unfortunately for him, Tfue wasn’t finished. Not content to hit the incredible snipe once, he fired the Quadcrasher into the air, repeating the same trick to eliminate his opponent for good. “Two time, better than one time,” stated Tfue in celebration. “You feel? Back to back. Get out of my game kid!” The Quadcrasher was added to Fortnite Battle Royale in the V6.10 update to Fortnite Battle Royale, and Tfue isn’t the only streamer to get creative with the new vehicle. Recently, TSM Myth performed an epic trick on the Quadcrasher, that ended with him hilariously killing an opponent.

FaZe Clan’s Nate Hill and Funk win $10,000 Friday Fortnite on August 2 – highlights, recap, final placements FaZe ClanWeek seven of the $10,000 Friday Fortnite competition wrapped up on August 2, with FaZe Clan‘s Nate Hill and Funk finishing in first place. For the second time in three tournaments, FaZe Clan’s Fortnite World Cup qualifying duo of Nate Hill and Funk have won Friday Fortnite, with this latest tournament being the third straight in which they made it to the grand final. Below, you can find everything you need to know about today’s tournament, including a recap of the grand final, highlights of top plays, the final placements, a complete bracket, and more. Grand Final recap and highlights Having won the Winners Bracket, Nate Hill and Funk came into the grand final knowing they needed to only win one match, while their Team SoloMid opponents Myth and Zexrow had to win two consecutive. The first map started off in favor of FaZe, who played a very balanced game to take a 16-10 elimination lead going into map two. Things got really interesting in the second map, as both Nate Hill and Funk went down towards the middle of the match, having just a four kill advantage at that point. With Zexrow getting taken out shortly afterwards, Myth was the only one of the four left alive, and had to try and get four eliminations to tie things up, and five to reset the bracket and force a second, winner-takes-all match. Unfortunately, a calculated risk went south for the TSM star, as he was taken out before he could get any kills, giving the FaZe pair their second Friday Fortnite victory as a duo. FaZe Clan announces its two newest members ahead of FaZe 5 – Dexerto
FaZe Clan announces its two newest members ahead of FaZe 5 Following the FaZe Clan’s FaZe5 announcement, the esports and entertainment organization has since inducted two new members into its fold. The org introduced FaZe Mew on September 21, known for his insane trickshots in Fortnite. His introduction video featured a compilation of his exploits, where FaZe dubbed him the “best trickshotter” in the game. Mew has since expressed supreme gratitude for his induction into the team, and uploaded another video to herald the news. “Years of grinding for the team paid off,” he stated in the video’s description. “I’m super stoked to be part of the team… FaZe the fuck up!” Mew is the first of five new members in the FaZe Clan, the second of which was just announced. FaZe Kaz is another Fortnite trickshotter, player, and streamer, and was announced as part of the org on September 22. He likewise expressed his excitement at joining FaZe. “Today a lifelong goal of mine became reality and I couldn’t be more excited,” he stated in a video on his channel. “As cliché as it might sound, I couldn’t have done it without you. I have a lot of work to do and I’m ready to grind.” Three more FaZe members are on their way in celebration of the FaZe5 movement, which is currently undergoing its third iteration. The FaZe5 initiative is an open-entry contest, which allows prospective members to submit their best gaming exploits in an effort to join the organization. With these two members (and their three upcoming teammates) being announced ahead of the FaZe 5 results, the team is looking to get a significant boost in recruits in the near future.

FaZe Clan Fortnite pros Cloak and Tfue set to move to improve Fall Skirmish chances – Dexerto
FaZe Clan Fortnite pros Cloak and Tfue set to move to improve Fall Skirmish chances Professional Fortnite players Dennis “Cloak” Lepore and Turner “Tfue” Tenney have revealed plans to move back to the east coast of the US, in hopes of improving their chances in the upcoming Fall Skirmish. The pair recently moved out to California to join some of the FaZe Clan organization in their LA team house, but it looks like it is not best environment for competitive Fortnite. As Cloak explained in a recent livestream, the internet service provider in their LA location isn’t ideal, coupled with higher ping on the west coast servers, can mean a frustrating online gaming experience. So, with the $10 million Fall Skirmish starting soon and lasting six weeks, the duo are moving back to the east coast for the duration of the event, to give them the best possible chances. “We’re moving back, we’re heading out for the six weeks unfortunately” Cloak says, referring to both he and Tfue. “It’s beautiful out here, but the internet sucks, the Fortnite servers are going to make you rage. Fortnite servers are terrible on west, like I’ve never experienced servers that are so bad.” What this means for other Fortnite pro’s living on the west coast is unclear, but perhaps we could see an influx of temporary moves for some of the hopefuls who can manage it. The majority of Team SoloMid’s roster for example, all live and practice on the west coast, and if there is a real discernible advantage to playing on the east coast, the $10 million in prize money would certainly make it worth it. The Fall Skirmish will start this coming weekend, September 21, lasting six weeks and concluding at Twitch Con on October 26 – 28, just like the Summer Skirmish had its finale at the PAX West convention.

FaZe Avxry uses Rift-To-Go to pull off crazy Fortnite Victory Royale – Dexerto
FaZe Avxry uses Rift-To-Go to pull off crazy Fortnite Victory Royale One of the most exciting things about Fortnite Battle Royale is the constant evolution and progression of the game, as players like Avery ‘FaZe Avxry’ Lopriore find new and exciting ways to take out enemies and secure wins. This was on display in full effect recently, when Lopriore used Fortnite’s Rift-To-Go item to pull off one of the smartest and ingenious victories you’re ever likely to see. The FaZe Clan content creator was playing alongside Exoph, Gank Logan and xd Comikaze, when they found themselves in the final circle, with only one enemy remaining. With the circle getting smaller by the second, Avxry and his team got above their opponent, when they formulated an idea to eliminate their last remaining adversary without having to fire a bullet. The team quickly built walls, and began placing spike traps as Avxry eyed up his target. With the traps in position, the FaZe Clan member jumped off the platform, and hurtled towards his enemy below, who was falling through the air to the ground below. Avxry had to time his use of the Rift-To-Go perfectly, activating it when he was right beside this enemy, transporting the pair back onto Lopriore’s platform and letting the trap take out his opponent to secure the victory. “Oh my God!” screamed Avxry, as he got off his chair in disbelief. “He was in mid-air too, you couldn’t make that up. He was falling and I timed it perfectly!” While this clip is incredible, spare a thought for Avxry’s poor opponent, who likely couldn’t believe the manner in which they lost this match!

FaZe Cizzorz completes epic Fortnite obstacle course – Dexerto
FaZe Cizzorz completes epic Fortnite obstacle course FaZe Clan’s Cizzorz has proven the only real limitations in Fortnite Battle Royale’s popular Playground mode are ones that are set by our own imaginations. The FaZe content creator, who boasts over 2.8 million subscribers on YouTube and 1 million followers on Twitch, devised an incredibly complex and lengthy obstacle course in Playground during a recent stream and was determined to get through it without stopping, hitting anything, or losing momentum. “This is the one. The Chiller trap temple run obstacle course challenge! Come on baby,” he said as he started the course. “Oh I’m actually so nervous I’m going to mess this up, I only have five minutes to do this.” With the game’s timer dipping below the five minute mark, it’s easy to understand why Cizzorz was concerned about his ability to get through the challenging set of obstacles that had taken him so long to create, but he quickly proved what he was made of: The course included a number of the new Chiller traps, which were added to the game in the October 3 V6.01 patch and quickly became popular for their use as a speedier way of moving around the map. The fact that Cizzorz managed to complete it after countless attempts only served to make the final victory sweeter for the FaZe star! Read More: Leaked skins and cosmetics found in the Fortnite V6.02 files continue the Halloween theme – Playground mode is Epic Games’ take on a sandbox mode which allows players to practice their craft with access to a great deal more resources and loot. While many users utilize Playground to simply improve their building mechanics and aim in order to become more competitive in the real battle royale mode, others like to push the boundaries and create incredible structures and mini games.

Explosive Bow leaked from Fortnite v8.20 update – Dexerto
Explosive Bow leaked from Fortnite v8.20 update Data miners have been hard at work searching through the v8.20 update files for clues as to what will be coming to Fortnite v8.20 update on March 27 has already brought a number of new items to the game, including the Poison Dart Trap and the introduction of brand new Foraged Items, which provide health and shield to players who find the consumables. Data miners have also leaked new cosmetic items, as well as new loading screens. One of these graphics have revealed a first glimpse at the Bow, too, as it features prominently in the Week 5 loading screen, which will be available for unlock once the new Fortnite challenges drop. Well-known leaker, Lucas7yoshi, has also gotten his hands on some information regarding the Explosive Bow, releasing new animations that show the weapon firing a bolt, and the process of drawing the bow back before the shot takes place. Neither the official name or the damage it will do has been revealed yet, but leakers are confident that it will fire explosive bolts. It’s likely that data miners will find more information about the weapon in the run-up to its release. kaboomey bow animations pic.twitter.com/NlvhZ9edM8 — Lucas7yoshi_ // Fortnite News & Leaks (@lucas7yoshi_) March 27, 2019 Eagle-eyed Fortnite fans will recognize that they’ve seen this weapon before, as like most items released throughout Season 8. It appeared in the very first promotional image for the season. As with any leaks, there is no guarantee that the Explosive Bow will ever make it into Fortnite, but with the weapon appearing in loading screens already, it’s likely that we will see it in a future update – possibly as early as next week.

Explorer Pop-Up Cup disabled in Fortnite due to material bug [UPDATED] – Dexerto
Explorer Pop-Up Cup disabled in Fortnite due to material bug [UPDATED] Epic GamesUpdate, Dec 8, 3:33pm EST: Explorer Pop-Up Cup has now been re-enabled. All scores from December 8 will be removed due to the lack of availability. The Explorer Pop-Up Cup has been re-enabled for all regions! EU will be able to participate for the next hour, but all scores from today will be removed in the future due to today’s limited participation window. — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) December 8, 2018 Epic Games have disabled the Explorer Pop-Up Cup playlist in Fortnite, as they attempt to address an issue regarding materials not being held properly by players. The Pop-Up cup mode got some adjustments made for Season 7, rewarding players with building resources, as well as health/shield for each kill they get – incentivizing players to go for more kills. The resource gathering rate was also increased by 40 percent and Supply Drops were increased for later in the game too. However, players reported issues surrounding the materials, where they were limited to only one single resource – effectively preventing building altogether, as players joked they were now playing PUBG, rather than Fortnite. It seemed to be a more frequent problem on OCE and Asian servers, although players globally were reporting the bug, with players have a material cap of 1, rather than 700/500/300 as intended. Due to the severity of the problem, the Explorer Pop-Up Cup has been disabled temporarily as an investigation is completed and a fix is rolled out. We’re aware of an issue where the Explorer Pop-Up Cup is not allowing players to hold the correct amount of materials. We’ll be disabling the Pop-Up Cup as we investigate. — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) December 8, 2018 Presumably it will be a straightforward repair, and considering the Pop-Up Cup is a limited time mode, Epic will know that it is crucial it is fixed as soon as possible. The Pop-Up Cup settings are the same as those used in the Winter Royale, and so are also the best practice for players challenging in the finals of the $1 million open tournament. We will update this story as Epic Games provides more information on the issue, and when Pop-Up Cup is re-enabled.

New Explosive Bow weapon coming to Fortnite – Dexerto
New Explosive Bow weapon coming to Fortnite With the item shop update on March 31 in Fortnite came an update to the ‘Coming Soon’ news section that revealed the Explosive Bow is on the way. Fortnite has released a very controversial update with v8.20 and it is looking for ways to win back the support of fans. This will start with the Explosive Bow, which is presumably coming with the next update. The Explosive Bow was leaked prior to the announcement so this isn’t catching players totally by surprise. Fortnite has tried introducing a bow in the past with the Crossbow but that weapon was almost completely useless and it ended up being vaulted. The weapon was unvaulted for Valentine’s Day in 2019 but outside of that, we haven’t seen a bow weapon in Fortnite since then. The Explosive Bow has a chance to be an RPG in bow form. In the news section of Fortnite, it says “Archery can be a blast!” which might indicate the bow could be used to destroy structures and players alike. Animations + Sounds for the upcoming Explosive Bow! (already leaked these but now I combined them) pic.twitter.com/EmzY2bgFdR — FortTory – Fortnite Leaks & News (@FortTory) March 31, 2019 FortTory, a well-known leaker in the Fortnite community, has revealed the animations and sounds for the upcoming bow. As mentioned before, these were already things people knew about but now FortTory has combined the things, giving players a better idea of what to expect. The next update will probably be coming with just new items as part of a content update. For those hoping for Epic Games to revert the patch, that will have to wait until the next main patch, but even then it probably won’t be happening. Fortnite’s v8.20 patch has been highly controversial as it removed health per kill in regular lobbies and introduced a ranked mode that features long queue times but does have the health and shield per elimination. It remains to be seen what will be done about the disgruntled playerbase going forward.

Exploit in Fortnite allows players to get past the wall in Food Fight LTM – Dexerto
Exploit in Fortnite allows players to get past the wall in Food Fight LTM The most unique feature of the new Food Fight LTM in Fortnite is the large wall which splits the map for the first five minutes, but players have discovered a way to get past it and reach the enemy side. Like something straight out of the Game of Thrones universe, the large wall splits the map in half and gives each team five minutes to prepare their defenses before the battle begins. Once the wall drops, teams are free to battle it out, attempting to destroy the other team’s mascot to win the game. However, it turns out that the wall may not be as foolproof as intended, as some clever players have discovered you can in fact reach the other side before the five minutes is up. Although the wall covers the whole map on ground level, by simply building down to water level, you can in fact get below the wall, and then simply build up. As shown by Reddit user u/Mario4736 shows that once you get up to the other side, you can surprise the enemy team and attack them. This is almost certainly not intentional, and Epic Games will no doubt look to fix this once they realize it is possible. For now though, you may as well try to make the most of this exploit for a few cheap kills – although make sure you have enough materials build your way across, you don’t want to get stuck halfway! In the Food Fight LTM however there is increased material harvesting, meant to allow for better defenses, so you should have no problem getting enough.

Explorable hidden village discovered under Iceberg in Fortnite Season 7 – Dexerto
Explorable hidden village discovered under Iceberg in Fortnite Season 7 Twitter: FortTroyDespite only being active for a few days, Fortnite Season 7 looks to be bringing map changes sooner rather than later – centring around Polar Peak. Fortnite Season 7 arrived only a few days ago and yet fans are grasping for any sort of map update that may come in the future, similar to how previous season have brought evolving map changes. With the new snow-covered area to the south of the map arriving with the start of the new season, it’s likely that the majority of changes would arrive in those areas. Intrepid fans have already discovered that Polar Peak looks destined for an update but now one YouTuber has been able to explore what lies beneath. Currently, the area is little more than a few guard tower-like structures but exploring deeper shows that a Castle and village lurks below. In a video, German YouTuber StanPlay has discovered that the Castle and surrounding Village under Polar Peak is now explorable on foot in Playground mode. Previously, fans had only gotten a glimpse under the map but had not been able to set foot down there. Read More: Fortnite: New leaks suggest that the castle at Polar Peaks could see major changes in Season 7 – To get to the new area, the YouTuber respawned once outside Polar Peak, allowing him to glide onto the iceberg. He then activated a port-a-fort, spawning a fortress for himself next to the guard tower which currently stands there. From there, he once again respawned – which then gave him access to the structure that lies beneath. Whilst the whole area doesn’t look finished, the YouTuber was able to run around and find loot spawns and chests amongst what was available. Earlier leaks have already suggested that the area will melt in stages – revealing the new part of the map slowly but surely. Fan theories that the ice will melt across the new winter part of the map were only solidified when players discovered that Loot Llamas were now visible under the snow at Greasy Grove. It remains to be seen just what Epic Games has in store for the new season but it seems certain that updates to the map aren’t too far away.

Fortnite pro ZexRow banned on Twitch for “self-harm” for drinking Monster – Dexerto
Fortnite pro ZexRow banned on Twitch for “self-harm” for drinking Monster UPDATE 4:25PM PST January 11: ZexRow has now been unbanned on Twitch after being suspended for just over three days. He was originally handed a seven day ban, so it seems as though his appeal proved successful and got it lifted early. Team SoloMid Fortnite pro player Anthony ‘ZexRow’ Colandro’s Twitch account has been suspended after he pretended to drink copious amounts of Monster Energy cans, actually filled with water. When it comes to the current world of Fortnite esports, few are more prominent than ZexRow, who has proven himself to be one of the world’s best players signing with TSM back in December of 2018. His massive growth in 2019 led to major success in content creation as well. As of January 8, he’s accumulated nearly 200,000 followers on Twitch, over 45,600 subscribers on YouTube, and over 140,000 followers on Twitter. However, on January 8, he became privy to the unfortunate news that he had been suspended on Twitch, which drew a stunned reaction from both him and many of his fans. “Damn, I knew 2020 was going to be interesting but not this interesting to where I get banned on Twitch,” he tweeted. Damn I knew 2020 was going to be interesting but not this interesting to where I get banned from twitch 😭 https://t.co/tHfpfvEGRf — ZexRow (@ZexRow) January 8, 2020 Why was ZexRow banned on Twitch? Shortly after his account was suspended, Dexerto reached out to ZexRow inquiring about the nature of his ban, and what the reason was behind it. The TSM star revealed that it all stemmed from him drinking an excessive amount of Monster Energy Drink on stream: “I drank 2 Monsters on stream and asked if I should drink another and everyone say yes, but I knew it was bad for you so instead I filled the cans with water and then kept drinking them with water.” He then pretended to drink more Monster beverages, which were actually emptied cans filled with water, but all of that liquid ended up causing him to be ill and vomit. When she tells you she’s been cheating😭 pic.twitter.com/wwwfzwBV53 — ZexRow (@ZexRow) January 8, 2020 “I got banned for ‘self-harm’ because you can die from drinking that many Monsters,” he said. “My friend was in the background exaggerating to make the joke more apparent. The TSM star also revealed that the suspension is currently set for seven days, but he has filed an appeal so it may be shortened or completely rescinded. “It’s a seven-day suspension,” he wrote. “They [Twitch] didn’t know there was water in them, so my appeal might go through.” While this is obviously an inconvenience for ZexRow, it’s not exactly the end of the world, especially after the major success he enjoyed in 2019 as one of Fortnite’s true superstars. He started the year off by placing third at the IEM Katowice Royale 2019 in Poland, then followed that up by qualifying for and placing ninth at the World Cup Duos Finals, both with his TSM duo Vinny1x. The streamer was on the squad that placed first in the NA East region of the Fortnite Champion Series for Season X, and nearly won back-to-back FNCS after placing second in the Chapter 2: Season 1 Grand Finals.

Exclusive Honor 20 Fortnite Battle Royale skin revealed – Dexerto
Exclusive Honor 20 Fortnite Battle Royale skin revealed Epic Games / HonorHonor have announced yet another Fortnite Battle Royale collaboration with Epic Games, as a brand new skin has been revealed and will soon be made available for their customers. The new cosmetic is expected to be made available to buyers of the brand new Honor 20 or Honor 20 Pro mobile phones at some stage, with the flagship handheld devices being launched on May 21. What could be the next addition to some players’ Fortnite Battle Royale skin collection was revealed to the public during the launch event of the smartphones in London. This move means that there will soon be two Honor exclusive skins in the popular battle royale game, with the HONOR Guard Fortnite Outfit already in the game. While the press conference was light on information, where the new skin is concerned, fans can expect to see a release date announced shortly. The skin, or outfit, will be called the HONOR Wonder Outfit and will feature a metallic purple costume and the character has bright blue hair, very different to many other offerings in the Fortnite Item Shop. “With the release of the HONOR 20 Phone, there will be another exclusive skin that will come to all users that own the phone,” @FNBRLeaks posted to Twitter on May 21. “Here’s the first look of it from the HONOR Livestream.” With the release of the HONOR 20 Phone, there will be another exclusive skin that will come to all users that own the phone. Their launch of the iKONIK pack was plagued with issues as Epic Games accidentally made it available for all players to pick up from the Item Shop, meaning that it wasn’t as exclusive as customers had been led to believe. This news shows that previous mistakes don’t seem to have had any significant impact on future relations with other major players in the mobile industry, and fans will be looking forward to some more details from announcements in the future. We will continue to update this article as and when more information is made available to us.

Ex-Fortnite dev reveals canceled Stranger Things POI modeled on Netflix show’s laboratory – Dexerto
Ex-Fortnite dev reveals canceled Stranger Things POI modeled on Netflix show’s laboratory Epic GamesFortnite almost had a Hawkins National Laboratory POI from Stranger Things added to the map. Here’s what it looks like. There was a time when the Demogorgon and Chief Hopper skins from the Stranger Things collab in Fortnite were considered one of the rarest cosmetics in the game. First appearing in the Item Shop in Chapter 9 in 2019, these skins didn’t come back until four years later. However, that’s not the only surprising thing. Not only did the Demogorgon and Chief Hopper return to the Item Shop in 2023, but Eleven was also added to the game along with three different skin variants and additional cosmetics in her bundle. And just as players think that’s all the Stranger Things content the game has, a concept image was shared on Artstation a few weeks ago by Epic Games’ ex Senior Environment Artist Pat Jones, showcasing an unpublished Hawkins National Laboratory POI in Fortnite. Just like the building from the supernatural TV series, it features multiple stories and other details. “We almost got a Fortnite X Stranger Things POI back in Chapter 1, but Epic Games never released it… This is an official image of a Hawkins National Laboratory POI which was never published before,” wrote ShiinaBR, one of the most well-known leakers in the Fortnite community. Why this entire POI was scrapped from the Battle Royale is unknown. However, seeing this image, many players in the comments couldn’t help but wish it actually made it to Fortnite. “That’s really cool, sad it never made it. I wonder where this would’ve been put on the map in 1:9 I can’t really think of any grassy area around at that time that would house it Maybe it would replace Salty?” one user questioned. “WHATT THIS IS SUCH A MISSED OPPORTUNITY OMG,” another said passionately. That said, one user pointed out that this concept looks like it was meant for Save the World instead of Battle Royale, mainly due to the “exclusive props.” Collabs returning to Fortnite or even getting a second wave isn’t something that’s impossible, and only time will tell if more Stranger Things content will be available in the future.

Ex-Fortnite Reddit mod accuses Epic Games of paying mods to manipulate posts – Dexerto
Ex-Fortnite Reddit mod accuses Epic Games of paying mods to manipulate posts Epic games / Unsplash / RedditA former moderator of the massive r/FortniteBR subreddit has accused Fortnite Battle Royale it is used to discuss the latest news and content surrounding the popular game. The forums or ‘subreddits’ are controlled by moderators who remove spam, abuse or irrelevant content posted by users, however, accusations from a ex-mod of r/FortniteBR have claimed that developers Epic Games are paying moderators in order to directly influence their moderation decisions. In a post announcing that r/FortniteBR would be offering a special membership for their subreddit, user “RawStanky”, currently a moderator of handful of subreddits (which included r/FortniteBR until recently) claimed that, during their time as a moderator of the subreddit, they were surprised with “how much bullshit” the moderators allegedly got away with, saying: “As someone who used to mod there, I have no faith anymore that the Reddit admins care. I’m kind of just done with how much bullshit that sub got away with, and how the admins are basically throwing rules they had for years to the wayside, and giving one of the most fucked up mod teams I ever worked with more and more ways to pull shady shit. It honestly feels like Reddit is encouraging the kind of behavior so long as they can benefit from it.” RawStanky followed up by detailing their accusations of other r/FortniteBR moderators behavior, including claims that Epic Games were allegedly paying two top level moderators on the page and asking them to remove posts from the subreddit that caused drama. RawStanky also claimed that moderators on the subreddit would apparently take prizes from giveaways, publish private information about or “dox another mod” and even got an ex-mod banned from the Epic Games Launcher, among other things. The comment has since been deleted by RawStanky, who is also a moderator in other pages on the site such as the official League of Legends subreddit.

Is Ewok the next Twitch streamer heading to Mixer? – Dexerto
Is Ewok the next Twitch streamer heading to Mixer? FaZe Clan Fortnite Battle Royale streamer Soleil ‘Ewok’ Wheeler might be the next streamer to join the likes of Michael ‘shroud’ Grzemiek and Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins on Mixer, after she posted a cryptic announcement on Twitter. The streamer wars have been heating up recently, with Twitch looking to close the flood gates as big personalities flock from the platform left, right, and center. Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop from 100 Thieves recently moved his CouRageous crew over to YouTube Gaming, while Ninja and Shroud headline a bunch of top streamers now using Microsoft’s competitor to Twitch. The deals are expected to keep on coming though, with Ewok rumored to be the next streamer to depart to greener pastures on an exclusive deal. The 32 second clip posted to Ewok’s Twitter late on November 13 was as short and cryptic as they come. Featuring Ewok by herself with a couple of paint cans, she whips out a paintbrush and draws a few shapes on the blank wall in front of her. Using the colors teal and pink, which she features so prominently on her stream, she mixed them together to create a blue hue on the wall. The color she makes at the end looks similar to the main blue of Mixer. This small announcement drove fans into a frenzy, speculating wildly about the big news that Ewok was going to make in the future. Most suspected that it was going to be a move to the up-and-coming streaming site who has already poached great talent off Twitch before. https://twitter.com/Ewok/status/1194797141140656130 Who is Ewok? Ewok burst onto everyone’s screens after Timothy ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar chose to host the 13-year-old deaf streamer in March 2019. She exploded from a few hundred followers to 10,000 almost overnight, and her popularity kept skyrocketing in the months after that. She streams primarily Fortnite to an audience of around 200 dedicated viewers, but she has become one of the faces of the game’s vastly diverse community, attending many Pro-Am events. She signed to FaZe Clan in July 2019, less than one year after starting her Twitch channel, becoming the first female streamer in the incredibly popular organization. A move to Mixer for her would be a new beginning on Microsoft’s streaming platform, who is looking to overtake Twitch as the number one gaming live stream site in the world. Pulling in big names like Ninja and shroud have driven more people to the platform than ever before, and the big hits are expected to keep coming. There’s no set date for when her announcement is going to go live, or what it even entails, but given the hype around the streamer, it’s sure to be a big one regardless.

Fortnite update v6.01 patch notes – everything you need to know – Dexerto
Fortnite update v6.01 patch notes – everything you need to know Epic Games have released the v6.01 update in Fortnite Battle Royale, along with the Patch Notes for all relevant changes, adjustments, and additions. This update is the first in Fortnite since the highly anticipated Season 6 kicked off on September 27. The one main addition in this update is the brand new Chiller item. “Evil” Fortnite trick is the perfect counter for this season’s jetpack meta – Dexerto
“Evil” Fortnite trick is the perfect counter for this season’s jetpack meta Epic GamesAre you sick of getting gunned down by enemies who use the jetpacks in Fortnite? Take a look at this “evil” trick to help you out. Fortnite’s War Machine Hover Jets may have gone through some balance changes, such as getting its boost reduced and spawn rates lowered. Yet, it’s still a powerful tool in the current season. Players have pointed out that the nerfed spawn rates create an unfair advantage, where players lucky enough to find the jetpack essentially get their chances of winning boosted against those who don’t. That said, players in a Reddit thread have already found a trick to ensure they don’t have to deal with others using this item against them. Right now, it’s already hard to get your hands on the jetpack unless you’re lucky and constantly trying to loot everything. Apparently, some players have been using this opportunity to make the item even harder to get by hiding it every time they encounter it. This is just so others won’t have the opportunity to find it and use it against them in the first place. One user explained: “Jetpacks are so crucial to winning now that making the amount available to your opponents is key in this meta! If you’re in a bunker and find one, take it out and hide it in a tree or behind a rock.” “My entire Discord server has been doing this for two weeks, and it has made games incredibly easy to win.” Many players were stunned after learning about this trick in the comments, especially since the user also mentioned doing it after securing the jetpack for themself. “Oh, so you’re the reason I can never find a jetpack,” said a player. Meanwhile, one player suggested, “Even better, hide them in the storm. They can’t be meta if they don’t exist.” “This… this is evil! Lmaooo,” one chimed in. Whatever you want to do with the jetpacks when you find them is entirely up to you, but if you’re dedicated to securing that sweet Victory, you might as well want to know where to pick up some of the best Medallions.

Everything you need to know about the new Team Terror mode in Fortnite – Dexerto
Everything you need to know about the new Team Terror mode in Fortnite While the Cube Monsters may have been eradicated from the main modes in Fortnite Battle Royale, they have made a return in a brand new Limited Time Mode called Team Terror. Team Terror, one of the two LTMs added to Fortnite in the recent v6.22 update, is a mode which splits the lobby into two teams of 32 players that must defeat each other to claim Victory Royale. However, unlike other large team based LTMs, Team Terror throws a wrinkle into the mix with the return of the Cube Monsters from the recent Fortnitemares Halloween event. These Monsters will spawn from special spawners that will be scattered throughout the map, and new ones will appear each time the storm circle changes. Read More: All Fortnite map changes in V6.22 Update – Soccer Field, Durrr Burger, Retail Row and more – As before, these Monsters will have the ability to inflict damage upon players, but those who choose to engage and eliminate the zombies will reap the loot, weapons, and ammo they drop. There will even be Gold Monsters that will drop Legendary rarity items when they are eliminated, which could become crucial in certain situations. HERE.

Everything you need to know about the new Wild West LTM in Fortnite – Dexerto
Everything you need to know about the new Wild West LTM in Fortnite The recently released v6.30 content update in Fortnite Battle Royale has added a brand new Limited Time Mode – Wild West. The Wild West LTM brings the theme and flair of the frontier to Fortnite, limited the choices of weapons and items that players can use to what was available in the days of the old west. “This town ain’t big enough for the hundred of us!” reads the in-game description for this brand new mode. Other than the limitation to weapon and item options, there are no other major changes in this mode, making it a classic battle royale race to see who can clinch the Victory Royale. The weapons that players can use in this LTM are: Hunting Rifle, Pump Shotgun, Double Barrel Shotgun, and Six Shooter. Originally, the Minigun was supposed to be one of the options, but it was removed hours after the LTM was released. Another unique aspect of this LTM are the Supply Drops, which can only carry Epic Six Shooters, Legendary Double Barrel Shotguns, and Slurp Juices. Considering how limited the weapon options in this mode are, these Supply Drops can prove to be huge in getting players to a Victory Royale. As of now, it’s unclear for how long the Wild West LTM will be available, although these themed modes tend to not be kept in Fortnite for too long. An in-depth look at the entire v6.30 content update patch notes is available HERE.

Everything you need to know about new Food Fight LTM in Fortnite Battle Royale – Dexerto
Everything you need to know about new Food Fight LTM in Fortnite Battle Royale A brand new limited time mod has been added to Fortnite with the v6.30 update, and will feature two teams and unlimited respawns, as players fight to protect their mascot. Based on the rivalry between Durrr Burger and Pizza Pit, each team will be representing one or the other, and will need to stop the other team destroying their big mascot head. When the match begins, there will be a large impassable barrier separating the two teams for the first five minutes, giving both sides time to prepare for the fight. The intention is that while the barrier is up, teams will make a defensive build around the mascot head, with material resources gained at 100% extra from gathering, and increased building materials found on the ground. More: Fortnite update v6.30 adds all-new Mounted Turret and Food Fight LTM, changes Glider Re-deploy – November 14 patch notes – To help each team in their preparations, special red supply drops will land at the start of each match. Delivering weapons, consumables, ammo, traps and building resources. This mode also features respawns and a respawn delay of seven seconds, and when you do respawn you will retain a portion of your ammo and 30/30/60 wood/stone/metal materials. It is a bigger change than we have ever seen in battle royale, and in fact, this mode really has nothing to do with battle royale, but is just a straight up objective based, respawn mode. It indicates that Epic Games may plan to expand their catalogue of limited time modes to game types that aren’t in any way considered ‘battle royale’, but still have the PvP element. However, it remains to be seen how well this more team based mode will work out, and whether players come together to build their defenses, or just ignore the objective and go for kills. Interestingly, there will be no explosive weapons or items in the Food Fight LTM, meaning you will only be able to destroy the other team’s defensive structure with bullets or your pickaxe. LIMITED TIME MODE: FOOD FIGHT Summary The battle of Durrr Burger versus Pizza Pit has begun. Two teams on either side of the map. A huge barrier runs down the middle. Build a fort to protect your restaurant mascot. When the Barrier lowers, destroy the enemy’s mascot to win the match! Mode Details An impassable barrier will be spawned along the center of the map for the first several minutes. – Each team will have an under-construction restaurant near the center of the map. Inside is a giant mascot head representing that team. – If the mascot head is destroyed, that team loses the match. – Teams should use the time that the barrier is up to construct a defensive fortress around their restaurant. – As soon as the barrier lowers… fight to take out the enemy mascot before they destroy yours! – Special red Supply Drops spawn at the start of the match. These hold a handful of weapons, ammo, consumables, traps and a few hundred metal building materials. – Players will respawn after 7 seconds when eliminated, keeping their inventory. – Eliminated players spawn a percentage of their ammo upon elimination, as well as 30/30/60 wood/stone/metal materials. – 100% extra resources are gained from gathering. – Building resources found on the ground increased from 20 to 50 per instance. – No explosive weapons or items are in this mode. –

Everything You Need to Know About Fortnite Battle Royale’s New Burst Assault Rifles – Dexerto
Everything You Need to Know About Fortnite Battle Royale’s New Burst Assault Rifles The recent V4.2 patch added a new Epic and Legendary Burst Assault Rifle to Fortnite Battle Royale. Here’s everything you need to know. Fortnite Battle Royale’s incredible success in recent months has been helped by the development team’s ability to keep things fresh at all times. They’ve done this through regular patches, Limited Time Modes, adding new and interesting cosmetics, and, of course, keeping players on their toes with new weapons and items to master. We have recently seen the introduction of weapons like the Sticky Grenade, or even the Port-a-Fort grenade which has been a godsend for players that aren’t the best builders. However, the new V4.2.0 patch, released on May 16th, introduced two weapons that should feel rather familiar to anyone that has put time into the game – the Epic and Legendary Burt Assault Rifles. The new rifles will serve to complete the Burst Assault Rifle category but, like the Epic and Legendary Assault Rifles, they look entirely different to the Common, Uncommon, and Rare versions of the guns. The Epic and Legendary Burst Assault Rifles look much like a Famas, reload faster than the other versions, and deal a significant amount more damage. Burst Assault Rifle Statistics: Common – 27 body damage, 54 headshot damage, 2.9 second reload Uncommon – 29 body damage, 58 headshot damage, 2.7 second reload Rare – 30 body damage, 60 headshot damage, 2.6 second reload The new Rifles can be found in all the normal locations but don’t expect to be finding one in every game that you play as the drop rate is likely to be low. The patch notes for the Burst Assault Rifles can be found below. Added Epic and Legendary Burst Assault Rifles. Can be found in Floor Loot, Treasure Chests, Supply Drops, and Vending Machines. Does 32 / 33 damage (Epic / Legendary). Uses Medium Ammo. Uses the same damage fall-off ranges as other Assault Rifles.

Everything we learned from Fortnite Season 10 trailer – Dexerto
Everything we learned from Fortnite Season 10 trailer Epic GamesSeriously exciting changes could be in the offering for Fortnite Season 10 as a brand new trailer has revealed a number of different things that could come to fruition with the game’s next major update. Epic Games have been ramping up the hype for the introduction of Season 10, releasing a total of four teasers at the time of writing that all seemed to nod towards a return to the battle royale game’s original Season 1 map. While there has been some hot speculation and a number of fan theories drawn up by the game’s online community since the arrival of those teasers, fans were finally given a look at what’s to come when the Brazilian Fortnite account accidentally leaked the new trailer for people to see. It has since been posted on all of the game’s official social media accounts. But, what did it tell us about Season 10? Let’s take a look. Time Travel? There have long been rumors that suggested Epic Games may be tempted to return to the original Fortnite Battle Royale map, which featured in Season 1, and the trailer certainly seems to show some sort of time skip. Perhaps even a map that comprises combined seasons, too. It starts by showing us Jonesy standing next to an orb for a few seconds, before as huge ball of light is emitted from it, taking the character through what looks to be a portal of some kind. Inside the portal, we can see a number of different things that had previously featured in the game fly past him, such as Christmas decorations, the Tactical SMG, and more. If this wasn’t enough to convince you that time travel was taking place, what came next may be even more exciting. The Return of Dusty Depot Finally, it seems as if Epic Games is going to bring back Dusty Depot, which may replace the ever changing Dusty Divot location on the map. The developers first hinted at the return of this popular point of interest in their second Fortnite Season 10 teaser image, which included an image of the original factories, but its presence in the leaked trailer all but confirms that it’s coming back soon in what would be a popular move. Whether or not this alludes to everything from the original map coming back too remains to be seen, but looks extremely likely. Original Fortnite weapons and items being unvaulted? Seasoned veterans of Fortnite will remember the days where the weapon options were very limited, with a fraction of the options from Season 9 being made available in matches. With a potential time skip seemingly on the cards, Season 10 could also mark a tremendous change to gameplay. As stated earlier, the Tactical SMG weapon was seen floating past Jonesey during the new trailer, which could suggest that weapons from more recent updates will be absent in the next season. Read More: Fortnite Middle East server could be coming soon Fortnite Season 10 kicks off on August 1 and from everything we know so far, some of the upcoming map changes might be very familiar indeed. Just in case you missed it, check out the full trailer below. New Fortnite trailer: With so many different things included in the new promotional video from Epic Games, fans will just have to wait and see what they deliver when the update goes live.

Everything we know about Fortnite’s Hightower event – Dexerto
Everything we know about Fortnite’s Hightower event Epic GamesFortnite leakers have uncovered files related to the ‘Hightower’ event that is coming soon. What do they mean? Well, here’s what everything we know so far. On August 5, the v13.40 update went live in Fortnite – bringing the long-awaited cars to the battle royale. Though, as you’d expect with any patch, leakers have been keen to dig up details about what is coming down the line. Some data miners moved quicker than others, getting their hands on some new cosmetics as well as an abundance of potential new fish types. However, it appears as if Epic Games are starting to build towards their newest cinematic event as mysterious files have been uncovered by other leakers. Fortnite Hightower event symbol The event, which has been given the codename of Hightower, looks set to leave mysterious marks and clues dotted around the current battle royale map. Reliable leaker iFireMonkey was one of the first to point these out, as he uncovered the strange mark and symbol in the files. It’s a big circle with plenty of interlocking shapes around the place as well. The “”Hightower”” event will leave markings on the map that look like this: pic.twitter.com/xUvOyKBRBN — iFireMonkey (@iFireMonkey) August 5, 2020 Hightower event sounds The leaker almost managed to get their hands on some ambient sounds that relate to the event. As you can hear, in the video below, it sounds like the audio is leading to something happening underground. Some of these sounds appear to be things scuttling around as well as creaks and gusts of wind, though, none of that is confirmed. “”Hightower”” event ambient audio: pic.twitter.com/l8XjMibDIX — iFireMonkey (@iFireMonkey) August 5, 2020 Fortnite “craters” from Hightower event On top of that, FortTory went a step further, finding six “craters” with the accompanying mark stamped on top. Four of the six are interlocked into a small line while the other two are also joined up but separate from the four. Where these will end up on the map, however, is much unconfirmed as the location where FortTory showed them off isn’t the actual location of where they will be found. this is how the ”6” craters will look like in-game. [keep in mind that this is not the actual location where these will be, we had to use this location to get it in-game] pic.twitter.com/768uoXFoCM — FortTory – Fortnite leaks & news (@FortTory) August 5, 2020 As we’ve seen in the past, Epic does get pretty cryptic with their clues leading up to their cinematic events, but the wait and teasers are usually worth it as they deliver. As Chapter 2, Season 3 continues to unfold, we should find out more about what this ‘Hightower’ event is all about.

Everything we know about Fortnite’s Thor crossover: Event leaks and more – Dexerto
Everything we know about Fortnite’s Thor crossover: Event leaks and more Epic Games/MarvelThe latest leaks and in-game hints have suggested that the next Fortnite crossover will focus on Thor, the Norse God thrown into pop culture by Marvel’s immensely popular cinematic universe. Fortnite has, in many ways, transcended what has become expected of video games. Multiple ambitious crossovers have seen worlds collide in Epic Games’ building battle royale, including Borderlands 3 and Star Wars. A number of crossovers have used characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Thanos and Captain America. With those crossovers in the books, fans often turn their attention to what might be coming next, and it seems we might be about to delve into Norse mythology. In an August 8 video, popular YouTuber Ali-A delved into the potential Thor crossover, taking a look at a mysterious comic book that has been leaked in-game. The comic book certainly appears to have been accidentally added to the game, with users not yet able to interact with it properly. It is also listed as ‘Comic Title Placeholder #1’, further suggesting it should not have been accessible at all to players. Topic starts at 8:40 Zooming in on the comic book certainly appears to show Thor, at least a common interpretation of how he is depicted in comic books. The images were shared by reputable Fortnite leaker Hypex, who is known in the community for the accuracy of his leaks. The comic book page also appears to reference Galactus, another character originating from the MCU. Check my previous tweets for more context.. pic.twitter.com/J9UCf9JCjQ — HYPEX (@HYPEX) August 6, 2020 Finally, the comic book appears to allude to the Rainbow Bridge, also known as the Bifrost. This is a bridge that features in Asgard, the home of Thor. If all these leaks come true, Fortnite appears set for a fairly deep dive into the world of Thor and the MCU. While the depiction of Thor is not particularly similar to the portrayal we’ve seen in Marvel movies, that seems the most likely aesthetic in which Thor will appear in-game. Many have already commented on the likeness between Bunker Jonesy and Thor. Despite the leaks certainly pointing the way of Thor, there is no guarantee we will see him or any other MCU characters in-game, at least until we get official confirmation from Epic. Keep those eyes peeled, gamers.

Everything we know about Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 – Dexerto
Everything we know about Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Epic GamesAs the current season of Fortnite winds down, rumors of the next one have begun to circulate online. Find out all you need to know about Chapter 4 Season 3, including the much-anticipated First-Person mode and a new Tropical biome below. Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 has been full of surprises and it has made a number of significant changes to the game. The season debuted a brand-new Mega City biome, complete with the Grind Rails system and a Japanese-inspired POIs that were a big hit among gamers. Players were also given access to new weapons, vehicles, and skills to use in the Battle Royale mode. Epic Games, on the other hand, aspires to raise the standard with each passing season and provides new content to the game in order to keep the gameplay interesting and fresh for its player base. Now that the current season is winding down, it’s only natural that leaks for the next one have begun appearing online, and gamers can’t wait to get into a brand-new map. Here’s everything we know about the next Fortnite season. Contents Car Racing Game Mode – Armored Vehicles & Vehicle Mods – Jungle/Tropical Biome – Desert Biome – Volcano – Mud Ground Texture – Summer Event – First Person Mode – One Piece Collab – Weapon Attachments – Throwable Melee weapon – Rideable Raptors – Optimus Prime Skin – New Weapons – Upgraded Choppa Vehicle – Car Racing Game Mode First up is a completely new gameplay feature that has been leaking online, and it appears to be Car Races, where players may select whatever car they like and compete against one another. Players shouldn’t be surprised by a racing-themed LTM given that a Drift Racing course was added this season on the island. The game mode will also feature a Ranked Mode which will make the gameplay excited for serious racers. Armored Vehicles & Vehicle Mods Players are also excited about the rumored arrival of Armored Vehicles and NPCs with the ability to drive them around the island next season. Speculation has it that these vehicles are the same as the IO tanks shown in Chapter 3. More than that, it has been speculated that the upcoming season would provide a number of vehicle upgrades that will allow users to ride through a variety of biomes and heights. Jungle/Tropical Biome Many Fortnite fans believe that a new biome will introduce a jungle or tropical setting to the game. The latest update files included encrypted assets for the corresponding textures, lending credence to the theories. Furthermore, various sound effects of the Jungle biome were leaked, including noises of animals and water bodies. In recent leaks, it has also been revealed that the Jungle biome will bring Vines on the island that will act similar to Grind Rails in the latest season. Desert Biome A Desert Biome has been hinted at for Season 3, joining the Tropical Biome that has already been leaked. Cacti plants and sand textures are rumored to have been decrypted from recent update files, according to a number of leaks. But leakers think it’s exceedingly rare to see two biomes on a single map, which would impress players greatly if it were implemented. Volcano Players have reported feeling earthquakes on the Fortnite island as the current season winds down. This validates the rumor of an impending Volcano Eruption before to the start of the next season in the game. Sounds for Lava and Volcanoes, which might be included in the next Season 3, were among the leaked assets. Mud Ground Texture Several leaks have showed that the ground in the Jungle biome would have the Mud texture, allowing players to slide while also slowing their movement speed as they walk over it. In addition, the physics of the mud will change in interesting ways when vehicles travel over it or when shots are fired during a game. In addition to the visual differences, the sound effects for the mud in first-person and third-person modes have also been leaked. Summer Event Every year, throughout the summer, Epic Games releases a new Summer Event to Fortnite, which features a number of free themed-quests and cosmetic items. A 14-day summer event, similar to those of prior seasons, has also been revealed to take place in the upcoming season. First Person Mode The inclusion of First Person mode to the primary Battle Royale playlists has been the most talked about change coming to Fortnite. Since the very first leaks at the start of Chapter 4, gamers have been requesting the First Person perspective, which is presently only accessible in Creative 2.0 maps. However, according to recent leaks, the game has received a number of new files in preparation for a First Person mode, which might be included in Season 3. One Piece Collab Since rumors of a collaboration with Attack on Titan and Dragon Ball Z have circulated among players, the partnership with the popular anime series One Piece has also been hinted about for quite some time. While the former have made their way into the Fortnite universe, players are still waiting for Luffy and the rest of the pirate crew to show up. Epic has been adding more anime characters in every season recently, and new rumors on the impending Tropical themed biome hint the One Piece collab can be included in the next season. Weapon Attachments To maximize effectiveness and personalize the experience, players in nearly every Battle Royale game can customize their own weapons. On the other hand, Fortnite arms players with an elementary weapons system. But that’s expected to change next season, when features like scopes and recoil muzzles might be added as attachments. Using them, players may greatly improve their weapon’s performance and modify it as the game progresses. Throwable Melee weapon Among the leaked weapons was a Throwable melee weapon, which was said to be introduced in Chapter 3. In spite of the fact that this did not occur, gamers are anticipating the arrival of the rumored Throwable Axe in Season 3. Since there are currently no game files to back up this speculation, the weapon’s inclusion in the upcoming season is still up for debate. Rideable Raptors A leaked Season 3 artwork suggests that players will soon be able to tame and mount Raptors, just like they do with wolves and boars and ride them around the island The leak was provided by HYPEX and Shiina, and it depicts a future Battle Pass character traversing the jungle on a Raptor running along a Temple Ruins-style POI. Although this is only a leak, it provides significant confirmation of the upcoming season’s focus on the Jungle biome. Optimus Prime skin Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots in the Transformers franchise, is rumored to be a Battle Pass skin in the next season. The loading screen was obtained by dataminers and posted on Twitter, revealing the skin. The timing of the character’s introduction into the game coincides neatly with the premiere of the newest Transformers movie. New Weapons The next season of Fortnite will feature a large number of new weaponry. The first hint of the Kinetic Boomerang, which will serve as a replacement for the Kinetic Blade, appeared in the Season 3 key art. Additionally, the Infantry Rifle, Lever Action Shotgun, and Mythic Drum Shotgun will also be made available in Season 3. While these are all exciting improvements to the game’s arsenal, many expect this season to play out similarly to the third season of Chapter 3. Upgraded Choppa Vehicle Recently leaked information suggests that the famed Choppa vehicle from Fortnite Chapter 2 will be making a comeback to the game, this time equipped with a launcher. In the past, Choppas were employed for quick island rotations and high-altitude sniping. However, this time, with the launcher with increased damage, they can prove quite lethal to one’s opponents. It appears that this season, players will use the Choppa mostly in the air and engage in aerial warfare. Everything vaulted & unvaulted in Fortnite Season 4: Pump Shotgun, more – Dexerto
Everything vaulted & unvaulted in Fortnite Season 4: Pump Shotgun, more Epic GamesFortnite Season 4 will include over a dozen changes to the loot pool in the battle royale. Eight Season 3 items will be vaulted — including the Tactical Shotgun — but the big news is the Pump Shotgun is back, alongside seven other weapons and items. If you missed the Pump in Season 3, you’re in luck. Yes, Season 4 is bringing a host of new content — and if you’re a Marvel fan, you’re definitely going to relish in it. However, gameplay-wise, some fan favorite guns are making a return after what feels like forever. The Pump Shotgun is back in Season 4, returning from the Vault. In its place though, some weapons like the Tactical Shotgun and regular SMG are being vaulted. Here’s a list of everything you need to know about what’s returning, and what’s leaving, in Season 4. The war to save Reality starts now. The Lore, Legends, Heroes and Villains from @Marvel have arrived in Fortnite. Join the fight and take on Galactus to save all of Reality. #FortniteNexusWar pic.twitter.com/VG2Hr3MI2D — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) August 27, 2020 Pump Shotgun returns after being vaulted in Season 3 After a short stint in the vault, the Pump Shotgun is back. No longer will you be forced onto the Charge every game — you can pick up the Pump in all its rarities across the map in Season 4. The Pump Shotgun is available in Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary rarities. The Legendary Pump was one of the strongest weapons in the game, dealing up to 110 damage in one burst. The Pump Shotgun isn’t the only thing returning to Fortnite in Season 4. Weapons-wise, the Legendary and Epic Revolvers, the Rare and Uncommon Scoped Assault Rifle, and three rarities of the Tactical SMG have been unvaulted. Most of these were vaulted in Season 3. The Combat Shotgun is also reportedly making its return, although VastBlastt noted “the drop rate is significantly [lower].” Items-wise, The Shockwave Grenade, Boogie Bomb, and Bounce Pad are returning. Tactical Shotgun, SMG vaulted Six weapons from Season 3 will be traded back into the vault to make space for the new arsenal. The Tactical Shotgun, SMG, and Flare Gun are the headliners for the changes. All renditions of the Tac and the SMG will no longer be available in Season 4. The Rapid Fire SMG will also be disappearing at Rare, Epic, and Legendary. It’s unclear if you’ll be able to get the Uncommon or Common variants by sidegrading, but it’s unlikely given the SMG is now totally out of the game. The same goes for the Hunting Rifle and Pistol, which are both losing its Epic and Legendary variants. The other rarities should still be available at the lower grades, but at the higher levels, it’s gone. Vaulted Weapons/Items: -“”Tactical Shotgun”” (all rarities) -“”Pistol”” (Epic/Legendary) -“”Rapid Fire SMG”” (Rare/Epic/Legendary) -“”Submachine Gun”” (all rarities) -“”Hunting Rifle”” (Epic/Legendary)-“”Launch Pad”” -“”Stink Bomb”” -“”Decoy””— VastBlast (@VastBlast) August 27, 2020 The Launch Pad, Stink Bomb, and Decoy Grenades have also been vaulted as part of Season 4. Given some of their similarities to items added — like the Launch Pad vs the Bounce Pad — it makes sense. Fortnite Season 4 has added a host of new skins, a new battle pass, and more — all Marvel themed, of course. The update is available right now, so if you want to get cracking with the new content, be sure to get your download rolling ASAP.

Every weapon and item in the Fortnite Battle Royale Vault – Updated September 9 2019 – Dexerto
Every weapon and item in the Fortnite Battle Royale Vault – Updated September 9 2019 Developers rarely add a new item or weapon to a game just to remove it a few months later. The developers of Fortnite, however, don’t tend to follow normal conventions. Instead, Epic Games regularly remove items from their massively popular battle royale game, placing them into the Vault. The development team do this as a way to keep the game fresh and innovative, never allowing one style of play to dominate the game for too long. While items that are vaulted are taken out of the hands of players, Epic Games have stated that any weapons or item removed from the game has a chance of returning to the game at any time. Read More: Full list of Fortnite Battle Royale world records With that in mind, here is a look at every item that has been vaulted in Fortnite Battle Royale. Zapotron – Vaulted: September 29, 2017 Submachine Gun – Vaulted: February 12, 2018 Crossbow – Vaulted: May 1, 2018 Revolver – Vaulted: September 6, 2018 Light Machine Gun – Vaulted: September 27, 2018 Remote Explosives – Vaulted: September 27, 2018 Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle – Vaulted: November 1, 2018 Chiller – Vaulted: December 6, 2018 Double Barrel Shotgun – Vaulted: December 6, 2018 Infinity Blade – Vaulted: December 14, 2018 Burst Assault Rifle – Vaulted: January 8, 2019 Port-A-Fortress – Vaulted: January 22, 2019 Behind the Burst Rifle, this was probably one of the most surprising Vaults we’ve seen in the game’s history. While it’s true that FaZe’s Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney recently found a bug that made the item pretty powerful, there were many players who swore by the Grappler. It seems as though Epic is wants to cut down on some of the mobility options in the game and the Grappler was simply next in line. Bolt-action Sniper Rifle – Vaulted: January 29, 2019 The classic sniper rifle has been placed in the vault to the surprise of many fans. The popular weapon had been one of the most-used items in the game but Epic decided to take it away. Heavy Shotgun – Vaulted: January 29, 2019 The Heavy Shotgun was added back on March 22, 2018, adding variety to the close-quarters combat selection of weapons in the game. Since it’s addition, it had been through a number of changes – mainly nerfs – in a bid to make the weapon balanced. However, Epic have made the move to vault the weapon, shrinking the pool of shotguns available to players in-game. Submachine Gun – Vaulted: January 29, 2019 Burst Assault Rifle – Vaulted: January 29, 2019 It’s ability to do damage at short-range will be missed by some fans who made it a regular part of their arsenal. Boombox – Vaulted: February 5, 2019 However, the introduction of Bottle Rockets means that players will still be able to take down enemy builds. Grenade – Vaulted: February 14, 2019 Sneaky Snowman – Vaulted: February 28, 2019 Even though players appreciated a bug that let the item absorb fall damage the Snowman was vaulted with the 8.00 patch on February 28. Chiller Grenade – Vaulted: February 28, 2019 There were a lot of ways to troll opponents with the Chiller Grenade, but Epic Games pulled the plug on it before the start of Season 8. X-4 Stormwing – Vaulted: February 28, 2019 Shopping Cart – Vaulted: February 28, 2019 Even though the vehicle had its uses in the game, the Kart was vaulted in the 8.00 patch. Impulse Grenade – Unvaulted March 12, 2019 Pump Shotgun – Vaulted May 9 2019 The Buried Treasure item fit in well with the pirate theme of Season 8, but a move to futuristic Season 9 meant there was no room for the the map. Poison Dart Trap – Vaulted May 9 2019 Suppressed Assault Rifle – Vaulted May 9 2019 The Compact SMG waved farewell to Fortnite Battle Royale in the v9.01 patch, as Epic Games introduced the new Tactical Assault Rifle. The developers stated that they wanted to “reduce the availability of high rate-of-fire weapons,” which spelled the end for the weapon which looked an awful lot like a P90. Suppressed Submachine Gun – Vaulted May 29 2019 For a short period, the Suppressed Submachine Gun was one of the most useful weapons in the game, but after the return of the Drum Gun it became largely irrelevant in the meta, and convinced Epic Games that it was time for it to move on. Hunting Rifle – Vaulted June 6 2019 The Hunting Rifle has become somewhat outclassed by the Infantry Rifle,” wrote the developers in the patch notes. “In addition, there are a few Sniper Rifle options available and we feel it doesn’t currently fill a necessary role in the item lineup.” Boom Bow – Vaulted June 18 2019 A bow which fired bolts with shotgun shells attached to the front, the weapon’s range meant it dealt damage to players even if the shot didn’t actually connect with the play, and also tore through opponent’s structures with ease. It’s safe to say that not many tears were shed when Epic Games announced it’s departure on June 18. Dual Pistols – Vaulted June 19 2019 Dataminers have already found a brand new Revolver in the game’s files, so it’s possible that the developers may already have its replacement lined up. Dynamite – Vaulted June 19 2019 500 The Rare (blue) variant of the Tactical Assault Rifle was vaulted on its own on June 25, leaving the Purple and Gold variants still in the game. This hybrid SMG/AR was likely vaulted due to the reintroduction of the Drum Gun. Impulse Grenade – Vaulted June 25 2019 500 Impulse Grenades were put into the vault, as the similar – albeit stronger -Shockwave Grenade was simultaneously unvaulted. No more impulsing your teammates to their deaths. Rift to Go – Vaulted June 25 2019 500 The Rift to Go was the final item vaulted in the 9.30 update. While you can still find Rifts in specific locations around the map, the portable version found in chests is no longer available. Suppressed Sniper Rifle – Vaulted July 17 2019 The Suppressed Sniper Rifle was vaulted, in both its Epic and Legendary forms. The original un-silenced Bolt Action Sniper Rifle was unvaulted simultaneously, in all three rarities. Baller – Vaulted August 1 2019 500 The controversial Baller was notoriously hard for Epic Games to balance, and was vaulted at the start of Season X, just after the Fortnite World Cup. Quadcrasher – Vaulted August 1 2019 500 Similar to the Ballers, the Quadcrashers were vaulted as Epic Games look to reduce players’ mobility when getting around the map. The hoverboard, however, remains. Flint-Knock Pistol – Vaulted August 1 2019 500 Both the Flint-Knock Pistol’s variants were vaulted with Season 10’s inception. The pistol was best known for its knock-back ability, on both the victim and the user, which could also negate fall damage. Shadow Bomb – Vaulted August 1 2019 500 The Shadow Bomb rendered users nearly invisible, as well as granting double jump abilities, allowing for getaways out of tight spots. Players will have to find other escape routes now. Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle – Vaulted August 1 2019 500 The Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle was re-vaulted on August 1, following a few months in the game. It has since been replaced by the fully Automatic Sniper Rifle and the Storm Scout Sniper. Epic & Legendary Tactical AR – Vaulted August 1 2019 500 On August 1, both the Epic and Legendary Tactical Assault Rifles joined the rare variant in the vault, signalling the end for this AR/SMG hybrid in Fortnite Battle Royale. Mounted Turret – Vaulted August 1 2019 500 The Mounted Turret was widely considered overpowered when first added, but adjustments to the player hit box while using it saw its popularity fall. This fell to the point where it was no longer considered worthwhile in the game. Air Strike – Vaulted August 1 2019 500 The Air Strike was vaulted on August 1, just three weeks after its introduction into the game. It was widely accused of further lowering the skill gap between skilful and less skilled players. Itemized Glider Redeploy – Vaulted August 1 2019 500 The Glider Redeploy Item was vaulted on August 1, as part of Epic’s efforts to reduce player mobility. While its second stint in the game didn’t prove to be as controversial as its first, many were glad to see the back of it. Storm Flip – Vaulted August 27, 2019 Drum Gun – Vaulted August 27, 2019 The Combat Shotgun was a controversial addition to Fortnite, and many pro players and community members were glad to see the back of it when Epic Games finally decided to remove it from the game on September 5. Known for it’s incredible range and deadly power, the weapon was a go-to, that was until its time was up according to Epic Games. Let us know if there are any items or weapons that we’ve missed! Here’s every one of them and how to find it on the island. The latest Fortnite season brings several gameplay changes where the Battle Royale island now focuses heavily on vehicular combat rather than the traditional gunplay. The Wrecked map has been taken over by a crew of Wasteland Warriors who possess Nitro-fueled vehicles and weapons you can claim for yourself. However, the Wasteland now presents players with its own set of challenges called ‘Wastelander Challenges’ that they can complete for some bonus XP during a match. These challenges are replacements to Augments and the player who accepts it has to pay the price with a negative ability assigned to their gameplay experience. Here are all the Wastelander Challenges and how to get them in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3. What are Wastelander Challenges in Fortnite Wastelander Challenges are extreme gameplay challenges that players can accept using Wasteland Beacons spread across the Fortnite Season 3 island. Accepting a challenge ties you to a negative attribute, as opposed to Augments, that stay with you throughout the match. The only way to get rewarded bonus XP and complete the challenge is to finish the match with a Victory Royale and earn Accolades while a Wastelander Challenge is active. Every Wastelander Challenge in Fortnite and how to get them There are a total of six Wastelander Challenges available in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 that players can get in a random rotation at one of the beacons. However, you’ll only be able to accept a challenge before the second storm circle closes in. Once you’re near a Wastelander Beacon, interact with it, read the challenge and hit accept to activate it. You can also check the progress or your assigned challenge by heading into your inventory. All Wastelander Challenge beacon locations in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 There are a total of four Wasteland Beacons across the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 map that you can head over to in order to accept a Wastelander Challenge. How to get free rewards by completing a Wastelander Challenge By completing every Wastelander Challenge, you’ll get a bonus XP reward in Fortnite that progresses along your account level. Furthermore, you’ll also get XP from Accolades since they are a key part of each Wastelander Challenge in the game. However, the first time you complete a Wastelander Challenge, you’ll also be rewarded a free Wastelander’s Mark wrap to equip in your locker. Every Shooting Gallery location for the ‘Get a score of 3 or more at different Shooting Galleries’ Fortnite challenge – Dexerto
Every Shooting Gallery location for the ‘Get a score of 3 or more at different Shooting Galleries’ Fortnite challenge One of the more interesting challenges for Week 4 of Season 6 in Fortnite Battle Royale asks you to ‘Get a score of 3 or more at different Shooting Galleries.’ There’s no element of trickery to this task – you simply need to visit a Shooting Galleries and play the mini game until you score three points or more, then you can move on to the next location. The Shooting Galleries are a fairly recent addition to the game, so it’s not surprising if you aren’t entirely sure where to find all five that are required to complete this task. There are only a total of seven that we are aware of, but we’ve marked them all on the map below for you: Either way, there’s a good chance that you will need more than one game to complete the entire challenge (unless you’re extremely lucky with the storm). Remember to always complete any game where you visit one of the Shooting Galleries. Returning to the lobby before you have been eliminated, or picked up the Victory Royale, may result in your challenge progress being lost. For more information on the Week 4, Season 6 challenges and how to complete them, visit our hub here.

Every reward in the 14 Days of Fortnite holiday event – Dexerto
Every reward in the 14 Days of Fortnite holiday event The 14 Days of Fortnite event goes live on December 19, and players will unlock a new free reward every day when they complete a challenge – data miners have already uncovered what these rewards will be. If you would rather find out what the rewards are as a surprise each day, like a Fortnite advent calendar, then you may want to look away now. However, if you are wondering whether it is worth your time making sure you get on each day to complete the challenge, this is exactly what you will be getting for your time spent. Reddit user u/Silox13 has ‘data mined’ the game files following the v7.10 update in Fortnite, and found 13 assets labelled ‘Cosmetics.Source.Event.14DaysOfFortnite’ – indicating they are part of the event. Strangely, the 14th reward is marked us unknown, so maybe Epic Games are working harder to keep this one under wraps. The rewards include an emote, a pickaxe, a glider, weapon wrap and even a gingerbread man pet – all completely for free. This should be the order in which the rewards are handed out, however this is just a data mined leak, so it is possible that Epic make changes as the event goes on. To unlock each of the rewards, players will need to complete a daily challenge – unsurprisingly, these 14 Days of Fortnite challenges have also been leaked. These challenges and rewards go live on December 19, and there are also rewards for Save the World players too.

Every rare Fortnite cosmetic item that hasn’t appeared in the Item Shop for over 100 days [UPDATED] – Dexerto
Every rare Fortnite cosmetic item that hasn’t appeared in the Item Shop for over 100 days [UPDATED] Cosmetic items are a huge aspect of Fortnite Battle Royale and there are some that are more rare and have appeared in the Item Shop a lot less frequently than others. There is no set metric for rarity of cosmetic items as some the definition of the concept can vary from player to player. Some determine rarity by the number of times it’s been in the Item Shop, while others go by how long it’s been until the item last appeared in the Shop. With that in mind, Reddit user ‘-_General_Grievous_-‘ has updated his online graphic on January 30 that shows the new list of outfit skins, emotes, gliders, and pickaxes that have not appeared in the Item Shop for over a 100 days. Read More: Fortnite Season 7 Week 9 challenges leaked – There is currently a total of 61 cosmetics that meet this requirement, including 26 outfit skins, 17 emotes, 10 gliders, and 11 pickaxes. These numbers and lists are subject to change at anytime if one of these items appears in the Item Shop again. According to the graphic, the rarest cosmetics in terms of time spent outside of the Shop are the Recon Expert skin (445 days), Red Card emote (196 days), Modem glider (282 days), and Pot O’ Gold pickaxe (296 days). There were two cosmetic items, the Blaze and Solid Strider gliders, which were on this list last week but were taken out due to appearing in the Item Shop. The Dark Shard pickaxe and Midnight Ops outfit skin are both close to becoming eligible for this list and will likely be included in next week’s version unless they feature in the Shop before then. It’s important to note that the cosmetics shown here only include ones that have featured in the Shop at some point, so excluding all the ones from the Season 1 pass or the Season 2-7 Battle Passes. Bundles are also excluded for the purposes of this list since the individual cosmetic items technically cannot be purchased on their own.

The second daily challenge requires players to visit the new Giant Candy Canes that have been added as decorative items at various places on the Fortnite map. While these Candy Canes do not offer anything more other than an added sense of festivity, their purpose has now been revealed to be part of the 14 Days of Fortnite challenges. This challenge is pretty straightforward but is not as easy as the first day’s challenge, because players need to visit two of the Giant Candy Canes and they’re not as easy to find as one may think. However, we have come across a map that may help you in your endeavor, as the Giant Candy Canes can be found in the general proximity of the red circles marked on the map below. In order to better help you locate the Candy Canes, here is a video guide to how to best complete the challenge, courtesy of YouTuber ‘VideoGameSherpa.’ Upon completion, players will receive the brand new ‘Wistful Winter Launcher’ loading screen, which is exclusively available by completing this specific challenge. While the loading screen doesn’t offer much more than just being what it is, it could eventually become a rarity, as players who do not complete the challenge now may never get another chance at acquiring it. With yet another 12 days to go for this 14 Days of Fortnite holiday event, there will be a lot more themed challenges in store for players to complete. Every Fortnite Winterfest present and reward leaked A new Fortnite leak has revealed all the free gifts that players will be able to get their hands upon during the Winterfest holiday event. Where Fortnite season seven saw the 14 Days of Fortnite event to celebrate the holiday period, Epic Games have switched things up within Chapter 2. The rolling rotation of limited-time modes has given way for Winterfest – bringing in subtle map changes, a list of challenges, and some new cosmetics. One of the biggest additions to the celebration event, however, are the previously leaked free presents that players receive each day. Data miner HYPEX got their hands on the animations for the presents, but until now, details about what’s going to be inside remained unknown. The leaker managed to follow up with their initial reveal and showcased that raft of presents that players will be able to get their hands upon. While some fans may have been hoping for some free V-Bucks or level progression on their battle pass, that won’t be case, but there will be plenty of cosmetics to get. These will include the Merry Chipmas music kit, the Holly and Divey contrail, Peppermint Pick and Shortbreak Slicers harvesting tools, Treefall glider, New Years 2020 and Well Wrapped wraps, as well as the Great Crackup and Merry Beastmas loading screens that had been previously leaked. It’s unknown if these presents will go through a daily rotation or if you will be able to get your hands on everything simply by opening all the presents that await you in Crackshot’s Cabin. Timestamp for mobile viewers: 1:26 The Winterfest presents aren’t the only cosmetics that will be up for grabs over the holiday period, with the previously leaked event challenges also coming with unlockables. These also range from back blings, sprays, wraps, emotes, emoticons to a music pack, harvesting tool, glider, and a contrail to boot.
