Duos teased for Fortnite Season 2 competitive with new test tournament Epic GamesAs dedicated players get accustomed to Fortnite’s major Season 2 update, Epic Games has made a last-minute adjustment and teased the future of duos in competitive play. Fortnite players seeking out a competitive challenge have grown used to regular ‘Hype Nite’ events taking place on Fridays and Saturdays throughout any given season. Shortly after the latest content drop, as competitors around the world were gearing up for the latest set of tournaments, Epic Games issued a last-minute delay and teased the future of duos events. Hype Nites are open tournaments that serve as one of the only real forms of regular competitive play in Epic’s popular battle royale title. Before action could kick-off for the latest event however, the official Fortnite Competitive Twitter account outlined how the upcoming tournament had been pushed back. “We have delayed Hype Nites to being on a future date,” the statement read. “Instead, we will be running an open Duos Test Tournament for all regions this Saturday. Grab a friend and hop in together!” We have delayed Hype Nites to begin on a future date. Instead, we will be running an open Duos Test Tournament for all regions this Saturday. Grab a friend and hop in together! — Fortnite Competitive (@FNCompetitive) February 26, 2020 While fans of the standard competitive structure have grown used to Hype Nites featuring open tournaments with solos and occasional squad-based action, this adjustment could be hinting at a potential duos inclusion in the near future. All regions are able to get involved in the testing phase and positive feedback will be pivotal as to whether or not duos returns in a more official capacity. Read More: Ninja slams “awful” Fortnite Season 2 meta – Despite featuring duos at the World Cup in 2019, Fortnite has been relatively quiet on the two-person front since. This could mark a turning point if all goes well throughout the testing period. No further information has been provided as to when regular Hype Nites competition will resume, but through this testing phase, it’s clear the developers are more interested than ever before in bringing back duos tourneys. If you’ve got a regular duo at the ready, this test tournament could be your time to shine and prove why duo comps deserve to be at the forefront of pro Fortnite.

Drunk Ninja can’t understand how stream snipers are getting him at 7am – Dexerto
Drunk Ninja can’t understand how stream snipers are getting him at 7am Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins is well known for his run-ins with stream snipers, but his latest encounter with the issue has left the streamer stumped. The streamer has returned home after his New Year’s Eve party that was broadcasted live from Times Square in New York City, and has been streaming Fortnite regularly to kick off the new year. With his wife Jess currently out of town, Blevins decided to stream through the night while having some drinks, and was still playing at 7am on Monday, January 7. While Ninja probably felt it was unlikely that he would run into any issues playing so early in the morning, the Twitch star, who was drunk by this point, couldn’t believe his eyes when he realized he was being stream sniped. Instead of being angry, Ninja seemed to find it both amusing and confusing, telling his stream: “I literally don’t know what to tell you guys.I have a 24 second delay. I’m literally switching from solos to duos to quads and back again.“ “I shit you not. I’m getting planes and people landing all over me. How do they know where I am? I have no idea! They are gods among men!” Drunk and confused, Blevins asked his stream to help in situations like this in the future, shouting: “Remind me that I have a wife and should go to bed at a normal time. What’s that honey? Oh, you’re four hours away in Wisconsin! Fuck!” Ninja has had plenty of problems with steam snipers in the past, with the Twitch megastar a prime target for people looking to make a name for themselves at a streamer’s expense. The problem has gotten so bad that Blevins has called on Epic to ban stream snipers, although the developers have never publicly responded to the American’s request.

DrLupo reveals the secret behind his Fortnite prowess – Dexerto
DrLupo reveals the secret behind his Fortnite prowess Red Bull / Brit + CoPopular streamer Benjamin ‘DrLupo’ Lupo has revealed the secret behind his Fortnite skills – and no, it’s not the Boombox. Dr Lupo uploaded a humorous video on January 19 that revealed the real reason for his dexterity in the game, where he attributed his success toward a popular brand of stuffed cookie – the Oreo. Lupo combined two Oreos to make one, giant Oreo (or perhaps indulged in the new ‘Most Stuf’ Oreos), downing his creation in one bite. The snack must have contained some special power, as he went on to take a serious slew of dubs shortly thereafter. It looks like fans can rest easy, knowing that the secret formula for Fortnite success lies in one of America’s best-selling cookie brands – or maybe it was just the sugar rush that boosted Dr Lupo to the top. DrLupo’s latest, hilarious video follows his major fundraiser for St. Jude’s Children’s’ Research Hospital in late December of 2018. The streamer managed to raise a whopping one million dollars for the charity throughout the year, raising $356,000 at Florida’s GuardianCon. By December 21, the streamer had managed to increase that amount to $730,000, and ended his 24-hour charity livestream on December 22 by meeting his lofty goal of one million dollars. DrLupo is known for his live streams and Fortnite gameplay, boasting nearly three million followers on Twitch and over one million subscribers on his YouTube channel. With his popularity, it would come as no surprise if fans started eating more Oreos before the drop into the map – say, when’s that Oreo sponsorship incoming?

DrLupo and NICKMERCS Hilariously Roast Each Other In The Middle of a Fortnite Match – Dexerto
DrLupo and NICKMERCS Hilariously Roast Each Other In The Middle of a Fortnite Match Red BullIt’s often a good time when big names in the Fortnite community get together for some matches, especially if the likes of ‘NICKMERCS’ and ‘DrLupo’ are involved. The pair were getting in some Squads matches together alongside fellow popular streamers ‘Ninja’ and ‘Timthetatman’ on August 29, and it was comedy galore. The humor really started ramping up when roasts started getting tossed around, as Nick began roasting DrLupo about his age, who returned the favor by making fun of Nick’s muscular appearance. “You know what, you should know, because you’re 50, and I should listen to my elders” “Alright, I’ll take 50 over being on Jersey Shore alright? So.” It seems as though everyone was back in their high school days, as Ninja and Tim were ‘oo’-ing and ‘ah’-ing at the exchange of roasts that was taking of place. It later became apparent the DrLupo had been drinking a little that evening, as Ninja took notice and commented on his changed nature. “Oh my god dude, drunk Lupo is savage!” Nick: “Yo lowkey bro. Lupo you were saving that one dude. […] Which one do I look like in Jersey Shore?” Lupo: “What’s the little short one with the long hair. Snookie? That one.” Nick: “Snookie? Yeah I’ve heard that before. That’s good. Snookie, chat. These are my friends.” Unfortunately, a clip for that portion of the roasting could not be acquired as NICKMERCS’ rebroadcasts are available only to subscribers of his channel. NICKMERCS and DrLupo will get a chance to continue this exchange face-to-face as both will be attending PAX West from August 31-September 3. DrLupo is schedule to cast Week 8 of the Fortnite Summer Skirmish series live from the venue while Nick has been invited to compete at the event.

DrLupo Exposes Head Glitch Problem With Certain Structures in Fortnite Battle Royale – Dexerto
DrLupo Exposes Head Glitch Problem With Certain Structures in Fortnite Battle Royale Epic GamesPopular Twitch streamer DrLupo has highlighted a glitch in Fortnite Battle Royale that allows players to shoot over certain structures but not be seen by opponents. Fortnite Battle Royale’s astronomic rise in popularity shows no sign of slowing down any time soon and it is now undoubtedly the game of 2018. The developers over at Epic Games have worked tirelessly to keep the game as fresh as possible by adding new items, cosmetics, and weapons on a regular basis. However, that doesn’t mean that that they are ignoring the more mundane jobs like keeping the base game polished, fixing glitches and bugs, and improving performance issues. Some glitches still inevitably slip through the cracks, though. One of the most popular Fortnite streamers on Twitch, DrLupo, highlighted an annoying head glitch problem during a recent broadcast that the developers will want to fix as soon as possible. DrLupo explains that players simply need to “build a pyramid and edit two of the corners” before providing a display of a bug where he could shoot over the ramp in his structure but not be seen, or shot, by his opponents. As DrLupo says, this problem “does need to get exposed because it needs to get fixed”. Luckily, the Fortnite developers have proved time and time again that they take feedback seriously. If previous form is anything to go by, we can expect them to be working on a fix for the head glitch in no time at all (if they haven’t started already). The next Fortnite Battle Royale patch is expected to be released on Tuesday, June 26th, so we could see such a fix implemented as soon as next week.

Drift0r is Trolling Fortnite Players Next to the Giant Purple Cube – Dexerto
Drift0r is Trolling Fortnite Players Next to the Giant Purple Cube Popular gaming YouTuber ‘Drift0r’ has discovered a fun way to get kills in Fortnite using the game’s giant, purple cube. An enormous cube has recently appeared in Fortnite, and has been slowly moving its way across the map. The cube possesses an array of odd properties, such as burning strange runes into the ground, making deep groaning noises, and even blasting players leagues away should they try to attack it. Now, Drift0r has used the cube’s defensive abilities as a means to troll other players, after discovering that the cube has a startup delay on its defensive blast, meaning that a player can hit the cube and take cover before the blast has time to strike. He showcased this trick in a video he posted on Twitter. In the video, Drift0r would hit the cube, take cover, and watch as the cube blasted the nearest player. Bouncing people off the mountain with the Cube in Fortnite is super fun. I hope this thing ends up being a permanent map feature. pic.twitter.com/SzU7G5Reqw — Drift0r (@Drift0r) August 30, 2018 Drift0r stated that he learned of this trick “the hard way,” and revealed that players can also get kills using the method. “I’ve been playing around with the Fortnite cube and learning how to get kills with it. This video is how I learned that hard way it it just targets the nearest player regardless of squad.” By knocking players away, he could take advantage of their stunned state and closer proximity to eliminate his opponents. With the cube being such a draw, plenty of players are drawn to it – to their ultimate misfortune. While the cube’s mystery remains unsolved, players can use Drift0r’s method to surprise unsuspecting players while the cube still stands – er, rolls.

Dreya Mac celebrates Fortnite immortalizing viral TikTok dance – Dexerto
Dreya Mac celebrates Fortnite immortalizing viral TikTok dance Musical artist Dreya Mac has had her viral TikTok dance immortalized in Fortnite, and she celebrated by dancing in sync with the new Icon Series emote. Fortnite is known for its zany emotes, some of which are inspired by viral trends or popular videos. During the game’s rise to fame, it wouldn’t be unusual to see children in public performing their favorite “Fortnite dance.” Fortnite has started to partner with creators to develop Icon Series cosmetics in recent history. These include skins of popular streamers and emotes based on TikTok trends. One such emote just landed in Fortnite as a part of the Season 3 Battle Pass, and that’s the “Steady” emote inspired by Dreya Mac’s TikTok dance. Dreya Mac celebrates Fortnite emote Dreya Mac first performed the viral dance alongside FelixThe1st in a TikTok video posted on November 11, 2021. With 25.4 million views and 2.7 million likes, the duo had created a trend that would captivate the app. And it would also catch the attention of Epic Games who would later immortalize the dance as an emote in Fortnite. The emote can be obtained by reaching page 7 of the Season 3 Battle Pass. A day after Fortnite Season 3 launched, Dreya Mac celebrated the release of her emote with a recreation of the dance. This time, she would be in sync with a virtual character from the game. “This has been in the works for a while with my team and I’m super grateful!” Mac stated, “I made this lil dance up to me & FelixThe1st freestyle one night and it’s continued to push our voices worldwide!” https://twitter.com/dreyamac/status/1533948323001942016 Of course, some Fortnite players have taken to Mac’s post to share their negative opinions. However, she clapped back stating, “These 11-year-olds in my replies telling me the Emote is so bad… okay? and you smell from gaming all day… get up and wash your bum.” The emote is a fun energetic dance players can add to their collection, and it’s also a great way to taunt your opponents after they’re eliminated.

DrDisrespect learns that Fortnite’s windows can be as deadly as guns – Dexerto
DrDisrespect learns that Fortnite’s windows can be as deadly as guns YouTube: DrDisrespectDrDisrespect found out the hard way that windows in Fortnite OG can be just as deadly as players. Fortnite has returned to its peak since introducing Fortnite OG on November 3 which saw the return of favorite landing locations and weapons. By turning back time Fortnite has brought back its devoted fanbase. Additionally, Epic Games is setting new records with over 44 million users playing on the second day of Fortnite OG. Among those 44 million players are some of the game’s most notorious content creators. Timthetatman, Nickmercs, Ninja and DrDisrepect came together to create the ultimate squad on November 8. Even with the extensive competitive Fortnite experience shared among the four players, DrDisrepect came to realize that there are certain challenges that even the “two-time” cannot conquer. Fortnite windows are a major in-game challenge. Tilted Towers is one of the most well-known locations in Fortnite due to the number of players that land there daily. The entire location is filled with high-rise buildings to explore and each of those buildings has windows – a lot of windows. While trying to escape an attack from enemy players, DrDisrespect attempted to climb through one of the windows in Tilted Towers. Despite trying multiple times to jump or climb his way through the building DrDisrespect was unable to get through. “Get in there, get in there, get in there,” shouted one of his teammates. Without the coverage of the building, DrDisrespect was shot in the back by the team that had been hot on his heels. Since DrDisrespect was the only member alive on the team, their squad was eliminated and they were sent back to the lobby. But not before DrDisrespect could get in one final word about what had happened to him. “F* game, f* game,” said DrDisrespect. The windows in Tilted Towers and other locations on the map have 3 openings with the largest on the bottom. This is typically where players can jump or climb through but the model is slightly smaller than the player. Which makes jumping in and out quickly next to impossible. Fortnite has yet to address the issues regarding windows in the game but is still listening to the community’s feedback and implementing changes.

When is Dragon Ball Z coming to Fortnite? Release date & leaks – Dexerto
When is Dragon Ball Z coming to Fortnite? Release date & leaks Epic Games / FunimationOne of the most anticipated crossovers in Fortnite history has finally been confirmed, with Dragon Ball characters like Goku and Vegeta getting skins very soon. Fortnite fans spent years wishing for their favorite anime series to appear in the popular battle royale game, and that finally became a reality when Naruto characters got crossover skins at the end of 2021. It’s now been confirmed that the next big anime collaboration will be with the long-running series Dragon Ball – which makes sense, as it’s arguably the most iconic anime franchise of all time. Below, you’ll find everything we know about the upcoming Dragon Ball collaboration in Fortnite, including a release date and all the leaks that have surfaced so far. When are the Dragon Ball Z skins coming to Fortnite? After months of rumors, Epic Games finally confirmed in a teaser tweet that the Dragon Ball skins will be released in Fortnite on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. While the crossover still hasn’t been officially announced, it’s clear that the teaser is pointing towards a Dragon Ball collaboration as the dragon featured in the image is Shenron from the anime and manga. Leakers previously hinted that the crossover would arrive at the end of August to tie into the new Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie on August 19, so they were pretty accurate in their predictions. It’s also been rumored that the Dragon Ball crossover will actually be a seven-week-long event with a series of themed challenges, which means it could be even bigger than the Naruto collaboration. Which Dragon Ball Z characters will get Fortnite skins? There’s been no official confirmation from Epic Games yet, but according to leakers, there will be a total of four Dragon Ball skins coming to Fortnite with two of them being Goku and Vegeta. That leaves two more skins that will be part of the crossover. A tweet shared on July 18 suggested that the third skin will be Beerus, leaving one more skin that’s currently unknown. While this is all just speculation, it does seem likely that the fourth skin will be a female character, as the same thing happened with both Naruto collaborations. In that case, it could be Bulma. Many fans had previously assumed that Gohan and Piccolo would get skins, as they’re the main characters in the latest Dragon Ball Super movie, but it doesn’t seem like that will be the case now. Dragon Ball Z Kamehameha Mythic rumored for Fortnite As well as the Dragon Ball skins, leakers have pointed to the existence of a Kamehameha Mythic weapon, which would presumably allow players to shoot the iconic blue power blast at enemy players. It’s also been reported that there will be a special ‘stamina item that will alter your movement. These could reflect the capsules that are featured in the Dragon Ball anime, manga, and video games. We’ll keep this page updated when we find out more information about the Dragon Ball Fortnite skins, so check back soon!

Dramatic Fortnite fan-made video shows ‘vault’ where Infinity Blade is stored – Dexerto
Dramatic Fortnite fan-made video shows ‘vault’ where Infinity Blade is stored GifYourGameAfter the rollercoaster ride of Fortnite’s overpowered Infinity Blade being released, vaulted and then glitching back into the game all within the space of a few days, one fan has put together an incredible video showing its new location. The video, which was posted to Reddit by GifYourGame, gives Fortnite fans an idea of not only where Epic Games might have stored the sword, but how they’ve disguised its location too. The character involved in the clip was walking through the castle on Polar Peak, until they discover what looks like a crack in the display near the throne. After staring at the flashing hole for a moment, they decided to shoot – only to find a mysterious door emerge. As they decide to walk through, the door is shut off and the pathway to the vault is revealed in this incredible piece of video editing. Fortnite’s Infinity Blade was introduced on December 6 at the beginning of Season 7 and became an instant talking point among the game’s community. Whoever grabbed the sword would be given 200 health and shield immediately, as well as a giant leap and – of course – an Infinity Blade which could cut through just about anything on Battle Royale. Epic Games publicly apologized for adding the sword to the game and vaulted the Infinity Blade on December 14, however, there have been reports which suggest it has re-appeared in Fortnite since.

Dr Lupo on Epic Games and “a**hole” cheaters who qualified for Fortnite World Cup – Dexerto
Dr Lupo on Epic Games and “a**hole” cheaters who qualified for Fortnite World Cup Ben ‘DrLupo’ Lupo has vented his frustration at Epic Games and professional players Damion ‘XXiF’ C. and Ronald ‘Ronaldo’ Mach after the duo secured spots at the Fortnite World Cup, despite serving a ban during qualifiers for cheating. XXiF and Ronaldo finished Week 8 of the World Cup Qualifiers with 91 points in the NA East region, booking a place in the duos portion of the Fortnite World Cup and a chance to compete for a share of the $30 million prize pool. Many are angry that the duo are allowed to qualify though, as they were banned for 14 days back in Week 3 for working together in solos matches, an offence which Epic Games labelled as an attempt to “undermine the competition.” DrLupo unhappy that XXiF and Ronaldo allowed to qualify In a series of Tweets posted by DrLupo following the tournament, the Fortnite World Cup caster made it clear that doesn’t believe either player should have been allowed to qualify for the competition after they had been previously suspended for cheating. “A cheater qualifying for a [$30 million] tournament is a kick in the junk to the integrity of the Fortnite competitive community,” wrote the streamer. “Love or hate the game, this should be unanimously agreed upon. The bottom line – I feel for everyone who grinds their butts off to work on their gameplay, only to get pushed out of qualification by that duo.” A cheater qualifying for a $30,000,000 tournament is a kick in the junk to the integrity of the Fortnite competitive community. Love or hate the game, this should be unanimously agreed upon. — DrLupo (@DrLupo) June 2, 2019 The bottom line – I feel for everyone who grinds their butts off to work on their gameplay, only to get pushed out of qualification for NYC by that duo. — DrLupo (@DrLupo) June 2, 2019 DrLupo also discussed the situation during his Twitch stream, stating that he doesn’t understand why XXiF and Ronaldo had to cheat, and what Epic should do if they are caught breaking the rules again. DrLupo said: “What kills me is, they’re good players. Why did they have to cheat in Week 3? We would all have been cheering them on now, but they had to fuck around. Fuck man. What should happen if they’re caught cheating again? Full stop ban. Fool me once? shame on me, dude. Full me twice? Go fuck yourself.” Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff then asked DrLupo if he was “ecstatic” to cast the duo, with the caster breaking into some fake casting, describing what he would like to say about the pair at Fortnite World Cup. “Ladies and gentlemen, my name is DrLupo and today pushing for the World Cup championship are a whole lot of gamers who worked their ass off, and two assholes who don’t deserve to be here.” DrLupo continued: “These two fucking bots who don’t deserve any of this are playing out of their minds. Lasering yet another player who doesn’t shoot back. How many of them are subs, every single one, we just got confirmation.” “They pushed into another box, another player with no materials, no ammunition, no weapons, and no dream of doing jackshit except for feeding two players who are sadly good enough to compete but for some reason don’t give a fuck about anything.” While DrLupo and the competitive Fortnite community may not be happy with the decision that allowed XXiF and Ronaldo to compete and qualify for the World Cup, it seems unlikely that Epic Games will remove them from the tournament unless they are found to be cheating again. As it stands, both players will head to New York City for the Fortnite World Cup Finals, which take place July 26 – 28.

Dr Doom’s bomb disabled for Fortnite FNCS after major glitch discovered – Dexerto
Dr Doom’s bomb disabled for Fortnite FNCS after major glitch discovered Epic GamesEpic Games have disabled Doctor Doom’s Mystical Bomb from Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4’s FNCS tournament after a bizarre glitch was found with the Mythic superpower that gives players an unfair advantage. Fortnite’s Season 4 has introduced many superhero-themed changes thanks to the Marvel crossover with heroes like Wolverine, Iron Man, Groot, and more being added as playable characters. Along with the new character skins, the Fortnite devs also added some of Marvel stars’ superpowers as Mythic ability items, which can be found through killing bosses on the map or from the Stark Industries supply drones. Unfortunately, a glitch has now been discovered with one of these new abilities in Fortnite, Doctor Doom’s Mystical Bomb, where players can instantly reset the Mythic’s cooldown timer, making it frustrating for players to deal with. Doctor Doom’s Mystical Bomb lets players charge up a green bomb to throw it at their opponents, which explodes on contact and sets the surrounding area on fire. The unusual bug which was found would allow you to simply drop the item and pick it up again to refresh the cooldown, giving players the potential to dish out massive damage. The Mythic Superpower can usually be gathered by defeating Dr. Doom and accessing the vault at the new ‘Doom’s Domain’ point-of-interest, but with the qualifiers for the FNCS Finals now underway, it has been disabled from competitive play. Due to an issue, Dr Doom’s Mystical Bomb has been disabled in competitive playlists. It will be disabled for the FNCS this week, including the Middle East Tournament later today. We will update you when the power is re-enabled. pic.twitter.com/EoTBds5l0S — Fortnite Status (@FortniteStatus) October 15, 2020 After the glitch was discovered, Epic Games provided competitive fans with an update, revealing that an issue had been found with the item “Dr Doom’s Mystical Bomb has been disabled in competitive playlists. It will be disabled for the FNCS this week.” The removal of this item from the Doom’s Domain POI might now see fewer teams landing there, as the location would often be filled with teams looking to gain an advantage with the rare Mythic ability. While it is unclear when exactly it will be added back into competitive playlists and the ongoing FNCS event, Epic Games have revealed that they will update fans when they choose to do so.

DrLupo claims Fortnite’s rate of fire is directly affected by your FPS [Epic Responds] – Dexerto
DrLupo claims Fortnite’s rate of fire is directly affected by your FPS [Epic Responds] UPDATE – January 22, 2019 Following DrLupos findings regarding FPS and rate of fire in Fortnite, Epic Games responded and confirmed that they are investigating a fix for the important issue. Hey Lupo! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We’re aware of this issue and are investigating a fix for it. — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) January 22, 2019 Benjamin ‘DrLupo’ Lupo has been conducting tests in Fortnite and claims that FPS can directly impact the rate of fire in weapons. The popular streamer has shared the results of a test to his followers on Twitter, where he was trying to see if fire rate issues which are currently being found in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds also exist in Fortnite. Using the submachine gun, he fired at a wall with two different rates of FPS and the results were quite shocking. Playing two clips side-by-side, Lupo showed the fire rate of the weapon in both 300 FPS and 30 FPS and it was clear to see that the former was significantly quicker. “In my opinion – in a majority of engagements – it won’t matter. But, the fact that it might matter in a competitive environment is an issue” Lupo tweeted. “I’m also curious to know if it affects building, editing, etc.” Because of a Reddit post about FPS vs Rate of Fire in PUBG, I did a test in @FortniteGame because they both run on the same engine. (UE4) FPS directly affects the Rate of Fire of guns. Reddit link for info – https://t.co/VJ3D8h7wf1 pic.twitter.com/5JsEDfYePn — DrLupo (@DrLupo) January 21, 2019 From what Lupo has said in these tweets, it’s possible that he will test the issue further, focusing on other elements of the game. The initial experiment was sparked by a post which has been doing the rounds on Reddit, which shows a “wildly” fluctuating rate of fire in PUBG, depending on a player’s FPS. With both games running on Unreal Engine 4, Lupo conducted the tests and was shocked to find that there was also a difference when playing Epic Games’ battle royale game. The question is, will the developer verify and respond to the issue any time soon? In my opinion – in a majority of engagements, it won’t matter. But the fact that it MIGHT matter in a competitive environment is an issue. I’m also curious to know if it affects building, editing, etc. — DrLupo (@DrLupo) January 21, 2019

Dr Disrespect’s $100K Fortnite tournament reveals insane Twitch guidelines for streamers – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect’s $100K Fortnite tournament reveals insane Twitch guidelines for streamers YouTube/Dr DisrespectDr Disrespect’s Fortnite Hot Shot Duo Drop Zero Build tournament has released a massive list of rules that Twitch streamers will need to abide by during the event. Back in the summer of 2020, Dr Disrespect was mysteriously banned on Twitch and to this day, the reason for his permanent suspension has not been revealed. The ban has been subject to plenty of controversies since, especially with Twitch’s rules about featuring banned streamers on the site. Despite being such a massive name in the streaming industry, Twitch stars have been unable to interact with the two-time. Now, Twitch’s rules are impacting Doc’s own event with Boom TV posting a series of guidelines for streamers competing in the event to follow and they’re extremely strict to say the least. Dr Disrespect’s Fortnite tournament can’t mention Dr Disrespect On the Boom TV event page, the rules mention how it is “prohibited to use your channel to knowingly feature or advertise a suspended user” and some tips for streamers competing in the event. For one, they suggest that streamers avoid referring to Dr Disrespect by name and instead recommend using the “two-time” and “Blockbuster video game champion.” Additionally, images or videos of Doc should be hidden while also muting the YouTuber in-game. Needless to say, people aren’t too pleased that Doc can’t even be mentioned during his own event. In a tweet by FullSquad Gaming co-owner Jake Lucky documenting the guidelines, viewers voiced their displeasure. “Weird energy. They are worried about saying his name like it’s Voldemort when there are bigger issues at hand in the world right now,” JaredFPS wrote. Weird energy. They are worried about saying his name like it’s Voldemort when there’s bigger issues at hand in the world right now. — XSET JaredFPS (@JaredFPS) May 26, 2022 “This is the [pettiest] sh*t I’ve ever seen,” said OpTic ZLaner, a frequent teammate of the banned streamer. This is the petties shit I’ve ever seen https://t.co/glSaISM8Rd — OpTic ZLaner (@ZLaner) May 26, 2022 Twitch streamers face consequences for Dr Disrespect content Earlier in 2022, Dr Disrespect took his dispute with Twitch to court, smacking the Amazon-owned company with a lawsuit. On March 10, Doc revealed that the case had been settled, but noted how neither party had admitted to any wrongdoing. The news was confusing for some streamers, such as TSM Chess star GMHikaru who began watching the two-time compete in a match with fellow YouTuber Dr Lupo only to be suspended for three days. Other broadcasts have taken extreme measures to censor the YouTube streamer from their content, much to the chagrin of the man himself. Notably, the Esports Awards censored his nomination for the 2021 Streamer of the Year Award, resulting in Doc cutting ties with the event. Hopefully, one day we can learn the real reason Dr Disrespect was banned on Twitch and if all these extreme measures were really worth the effort.

Dr Disrespect uninstalls Fortnite yet again after bashing it on stream – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect uninstalls Fortnite yet again after bashing it on stream Twitch star Fortnite and then uninstalled it, vowing to never play it again. Dr Disrespect is one of Twitch’s largest streamers due to his intense personality and opinions. During his stream on March 21, the Doc was going for wins in PUBG, Fortnite and Apex Legends but didn’t last very long playing Epic Games’ title. After claiming the win on PUBG, Doc moved over to Fortnite where he was trying to come home with one solo win. During one match he was eliminated and that led to him quickly proclaiming Fortnite was unfun and that he was uninstalling it, which wasn’t the first time he’s done so. “I can’t do this game anymore, I don’t wanna do this game,” Doc said on his stream. “I have to uninstall this game. Never play this game ever again. This game is just not fun, it’s just like a piece of shit game.” Those are harsh words from the Two-Time but didn’t end there as he also took shots at the players as well. “It’s super boring to play, I cannot play it I’m not interested,” he said. “It’s for little phony kids, phony and I mean phony. It’s for phony kids who don’t know anything about video games.” He then uninstalled the game on stream by going to the Epic Games Store, clicking on Fortnite and hitting uninstall. “Uninstall this thing, get rid of it, thank you, bye,” Doc said. “The game sucks. I fucking hate the game.” Keep in mind this isn’t the first time he has uninstalled Fortnite so he could end up coming back in the future. As for right now, we probably shouldn’t expect to see Fortnite in the Doc’s rotation going forward.

Dr DisRespect Warns Epic Games About Changing the Building Meta in Fortnite – Dexerto
Dr DisRespect Warns Epic Games About Changing the Building Meta in Fortnite Twitch/Dr DisRespectTop battle royale player and Twitch streamer Dr DisRespect was sceptical about Epic Games potential plans to lower the building materials cap in Fortnite, saying it won’t work. Epic Games caused a stir on June 21st, after strongly hinting that they would be looking to lower the prevalence of ‘build-offs’ in Fortnite, in a move to overhaul the game ‘meta’. Additionally, they suggested that shotguns and rockets were too ‘superior’ to other weapons, and so limited the number of viable play styles which players could employ. But many high profile players, streamers and YouTubers were vocally concerned about the suggestions, worried that Epic is trying to cater to new players. More: KEEMSTAR Gets Top Twitch Streamers Unbanned After Interscope Records “Accidentally” Copyright Striked for Music – The most popular battle royale streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins made his thoughts clear, saying that he feared it would lower, or even eradicate, the skill gap that building establishes. And Dr DisRespect echoed this, explaining that building is what separates Fortnite from other battle royales, and is particularly important given the randomness of the gun mechanics. “This game is built on building. Both used for defensive mechanisms for new players, and offensive mechanisms for good players, right. Plain and simple. You take that away, you just have a very cartoony, RNG shooter. It’s not going to work man, I guarantee.” Epic Games has made clear that although they are keen to make significant changes to the current game meta, they are listening to community feedback. So far, that feedback has been largely one sided, with many players concerned that lessening the importance of building may take away the one thing which makes Fortnite so unique in an increasingly saturated market of BR titles. Others have been more willing to experiment with changes however, and Ninja himself suggested that a trial of 750 building materials cap (as opposed to the current 999) may be a good idea, but only on a trial basis. Fortnite has in the past used limited time modes to experiment with changes, and so a lower building materials LTM may be a possible solution, as Epic attempts to prepare Fortnite for competitive play.

Dr Disrespect roasts Fortnite World Cup players for Pump Shotgun complaints – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect roasts Fortnite World Cup players for Pump Shotgun complaints GFUEL / Epic GamesFortnite Battle Royale pros following their complaints of the Pump Shotgun being vaulted for the World Cup. May 11 marked the first week of World Cup qualifiers without the Pump Shotgun, a weapon that many players relied on for late-game eliminations. The removal of this gun led many pros to learn a different strategy on the fly but a number of them had a hard time finding something to fill the void. Many pros hit out at Epic Games over the vaulting Top names in the community, such as Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins lamented the loss of the gun after the qualifiers finished on Twitter. Ninja performed poorly during the qualifiers, something that was clear from his very first match, and shared his feelings directly after his stream. “Felt completely out of my element and without the pump I froze in 5 fights late game when my combat shotgun would not shoot out of shadow mode.” Honestly…. I just played some of the worst Fortnite of my life. Felt completely out of my element and w/o the pump I froze in about 5 fights late game when my combat shotgun would not shoot out of shadow mode. Did not qualify for Sunday 🙁 — Ninja (@Ninja) May 11, 2019 Ninja certainly wasn’t alone in feeling lost without the Pump Shotgun, as it was echoed by other players who were doing their qualifiers. TimTheTatman said although he plays the game mainly for fun, the late-game zones without the pump felt “awful.” I know that I’m not a pro and I mainly play fortnite for fun.. but those late game zones without the pump felt AWFUL. — timthetatman (@timthetatman) May 11, 2019 Dr Disrespect called them all out The Doc caught wind of these “excuses” and sent out a clear message to all of the pros – they need to stop their complaining. “I’m sick of these Fortnite excuses….”unvault the pump” or “please, I need my baby precious pump shotty”, etc etc,” he wrote. I’m sick of these Fortnite excuses….”unvault the pump” or “please, I need my baby precious pump shotty”, etc etc. Man up… Jesus Christ. There’s a lot of 8 years olds looking to end you and this is your response? — Dr Disrespect (@drdisrespect) May 11, 2019 He responded to Ninja’s tweet by saying he should have watched some of the Doc’s VODs to learn more about the late-game. Ninja fans quickly came to his defense and Doc gave them a firm roasting as well. Typical Fortnite twitch fanboy extreme neon solar tweet retweeter like anything that has to do with fairies and 8th grade video game mechanics. — Dr Disrespect (@drdisrespect) May 11, 2019 I’ll give you the most attention right now then you’ll ever get in your entire streaming career and Ill just want to say this… You’re trapped in a box…. get out of it — Dr Disrespect (@drdisrespect) May 11, 2019 The Doc moved on from Ninja and then set his sights on TimTheTatman, someone he often has some friendly banter with. Tim said he’d be able to beat Doc in a 1v1 even if he unplugged his monitor and mouse, something Doc vehemently disagreed with and jabbed at Tim’s weight. It was made clear the two were just joking, but that didn’t stop Doc from taking a shot at the Fortnite Battle Royale streamer’s “preschool demographic” which is a common criticism of the community. One person Doc actually had kind words for is NICKMERCS, someone who didn’t complain about the Pump Shotgun once. The only person that isn’t complaining about the pump shotgun being vaulted is @NICKMERCS. That’s why I’m taking him away from @100Thieves and signing him to a 9 year, 375 million dollar contract under the 2xChampion brand. Another easy decision. — Dr Disrespect (@drdisrespect) May 11, 2019 The Two-Time said he was taking some time away from Twitch, but it looks like he is still spending that time interacting with the community, continuing to be the troll that he is.

Dr DisRespect Still Can’t Understand the Hype Surrounding Fortnite Battle Royale: “There’s a lot of phoneyness involved around that game” – Dexerto
Dr DisRespect Still Can’t Understand the Hype Surrounding Fortnite Battle Royale: “There’s a lot of phoneyness involved around that game” He might be the Two Time Consecutive Blockbuster Video Game Champ 1993-1994, but Dr DisRespect still can’t get to grips with Fortnite Battle Royale. Best known for playing games like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) and H1Z1, The Doc was taking a hiatus from streaming when Fortnite Battle Royale truly started to blow up. The massively popular title from Epic Games is yet another Battle Royale game that has risen to prominence in recent years, but its unique gameplay and building mechanics have seen it surpass all competition in 2018. Dr DisRespect has tried to come to terms with the new phenomenon since returning to streaming in February but he is rarely able to last more than a few hours before his frustrations with the game reach boiling point. Read More: Fortnite Earned an Insane, Record-Breaking Amount of Revenue in the Month of April This was once again the case on May 24th when the popular streamer got fed up with Fortnite after about three hours of streaming and decided to move on to his preferred game, PUBG. Dr DisRespect made it clear that he doesn’t understand the hype surrounding Fortnite, calling it an “overrated mess” and hinting that he believes there is a lot of “phoneyness” from people claiming to enjoy it. “This game is a fucking overrated mess. Get me off of it, I’m bored to death playing that game. I’m playing this tournament and that’s it. That game is, that game is fucking terr- like how is that game popular? I don’t get it! I mean I get it, 7 year olds, 8 year olds and ‘whoop de do, doop de do’, but MAN, I am not into it. I try to be, alright? I think there’s a lot of phoneyness involved around that game. A lot of phoneyness around that game, I’ll tell you that! Presumably the comments about “phoneyness” are directed towards other content creators and streamers who the Doc believes are exaggerating how much they enjoy Fortnite compared to other games. He does have his moments where he enjoys the Epic Games title but, more often than not, this reaction is the more common one. The full clip can be viewed below.

Dr DisRespect Reveals His Own Themed ‘Multi-Billion Dollar’ Concept Skin He Would Like to See Added to Fortnite – Dexerto
Dr DisRespect Reveals His Own Themed ‘Multi-Billion Dollar’ Concept Skin He Would Like to See Added to Fortnite Popular Twitch streamer ‘Dr DisRespect’ has revealed his own themed concept skin that he would like to see added to Fortnite: Battle Royale. The electrifying internet personality tweeted out a personalized pickax design at Fortnite, calling the idea “a multi billion dollar” skin. While Fortnite has never directly acknowledged there to be any affiliation between its in-game skins and content creators, they have added several items that have been deemed to be themed after popular streamers. The ‘Plunja’ pickax was designed for Fortnite extraordinaire Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins while the [+] ‘Positivity’ emote was made to pay homage to ‘CDNThe3rd.’ Now, Dr DisRespect wants to get in on the fun, and this is the themed pickax skin he tweeted to Fortnite. Easily a multi billion dollar @FortniteGame skin. Easily. pic.twitter.com/GNVrmfTATB — Dr DisRespect (@DrDisRespect) June 25, 2018 The skin features several classic elements from the Doc’s brand, including the black and red bands on the handle, and a steel black comb that the streamer occasionally flashes out on stream to maintenance his massive mustache. Although the Doc does not give credit to anyone in his tweet, it appears that the design was originally created by Danny Dufford on Twitter, who posted this time-lapse of the process in the comments section as proof. Thanks for all the love! The good thing about Procreate on the iPad is that it lets me export the process video. Here’s an exclusive, never before seen look into my quick design process from ugly sketch, to ugly color study, to better sketch, to final. (For more proof) pic.twitter.com/lFCCzyqBAi — Danny Dufford (@dufford_daniel) June 25, 2018 Whether or not the Doc will get his own pickax in Fortnite remains to be seen, but it was definitely worth a try on his part. After recently demanded his own personalized skins in another popular Battle Royale title, PUBG, he was given several weapons skins within a matter of days.

Dr DisRespect rage quits Fortnite before sharing his brutally honest opinion on the game – Dexerto
Dr DisRespect rage quits Fortnite before sharing his brutally honest opinion on the game Dr DisRespectDr DisRespect is one of the most popular streamers on Twitch but he simply cannot stand the platform’s most popular game, Fortnite Battle Royale. The Doc decided to spend some time playing the incredibly popular Epic Games title during a recent stream but died at the hands of an opponent that hopped around him before taking him down with a shotgun. “I am so over this game, I hate this game,” he said, closing it down immediately. “It’s such a corny ass game, how did it ever get popular? It pisses me off!” The self-proclaimed ‘two time, back-to-back, 1993 – 1994 Blockbuster International Video Gaming Champion’ continued his rant, saying “it’s the biggest sellout game in the history of the video game industry. It’s such a sellout, horrific gaming experience. I cannot stand Fortnite.” “I never could stand it, alright? I tried, I put on my little face but the reality was I grew up playing way better video gaming experiences my entire life and this game comes out and all of a sudden it’s the number one thing,” Dr DisRespect says, getting more angry by the minute. “Look at my clip, let me Tweet this out, let me Tweet this out, look at this… IT ALL LOOKS THE SAME TO ME!” The Doc spent the majority of the last week playing the Call of Duty: Blackout beta but was forced to step away from the franchise’s first battle royale game when the beta came to an end on September 17. The popular streamer will now have to wait until October 12 before he can get his hands on Blackout again but it doesn’t sound like he’ll be filling that waiting time with many more Fortnite games!

Dr DisRespect reveals date for next Code Red Fortnite tournament – Dexerto
Dr DisRespect reveals date for next Code Red Fortnite tournament Dr DisRespect has confirmed that he will be running another Code Red tournament for Fortnite Battle Royale in the near future. The first installment of the Code Red competition, which was won by TSM Hamlinz and Reverse2K, was run by self-proclaimed ‘two-time, back-to-back, 1993 – 1994 Blockbuster International Video Gaming Champion’ on November 8 and seemed to be a big hit. The $20,000 double-elimination tournament was run in association with BoomTV and featured 16 high-profile Duos teams competing head-to-head against one another to get the most eliminations in a Squads lobby. It would appear that the success of the first event has prompted the Doc and BoomTV to host another one, as the popular streamer announced on Twitter that there will be a ‘Thanksgiving special’ on November 20. The prize pool for the next event is currently uncertain, but competition is set to begin at 13:00 PST (16:00 EST, 21:00 GMT, 22:00 CET) and is likely to feature many of Fortnite’s biggest stars yet again. Cizzors, Myth, Nate Hill, NICKMERCS, and even the Doc himself took part in the first installment of the Code Red Fortnite tournament, but it was Hamlinz and Revese2k who eventually came out on top of SypherPK and Symfuhny in the Grand Final. While the Code Red event follows a significantly more straightforward format than what is usually seen in the likes of the Fall or Summer Skirmish, watching the world’s best players wipe out entire squads at a time. Stay tuned for more information about the format and prize pool as it becomes available.

Dr Disrespect reveals one thing he’d change about Fortnite after returning – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect reveals one thing he’d change about Fortnite after returning YouTube: Dr Disrespect / Epic GamesAlthough he’s had a blast on Fortnite since returning, Dr Disrespect revealed one thing he’d change about the game — how long it takes to load into a game and re-queue into the next one. Dr Disrespect is one of many streamers whose eyes lit up after Epic Games made Fortnite’s Zero Build mode permanent. The two-time doesn’t think it’s perfect, but he’s thoroughly enjoyed his time on it so far. However, after playing the game again for an entire stream, he realized that there’s one thing about it that still bugs him, the fact it can take a long time to find a game or queue another one, and he’d love to change it. In the lead-up to his revelation, Doc’s patience was tested as he battled performance issues. “Oh dude, it’s just so glitchy,” he said. “I can’t have an honest fight because of the number of frame issues I’m dealing with in the game.” “It’s insane, champs. It’s hard to describe. Like, right when I’m getting into a fight, it’s like every couple of other frames, it stops and then picks up again in the middle of the fight and I need to readjust my aim. Oh man, I hate it.” Still, he admitted the experience was better than fighting with building enabled. Then, in his darkest moment after losing another gunfight due to these issues, he saw the light while he was raring to jump back in. “Oh god. Then you’ve got to go through this crap,” said the two-time, referring to how long it takes to find another game in either spectator mode or by returning to the lobby. “I just want to get into the next game!” That’s exactly what he’d change if he had a role in its development. “One thing I would change right now with this game is increasing the speed at which I get into servers and the speed at which I’m into the next game.” The relevant part of the video begins at 4:26:53. Despite that, though, and despite having frustrating encounters with controller players who have aim-assist on, Doc ultimately enjoyed the stint. However, he prefers playing with his full crew rather than solos. Epic Games is also ramping up efforts to keep the game fresh by releasing more new content in an update on April 5. They also revealed major changes are coming to Arenas that revolve around Zero Build mode.

Dr DisRespect makes Fortnite’s green screen room a little more personalized – Dexerto
Dr DisRespect makes Fortnite’s green screen room a little more personalized Most people would walk into the green room in Fortnite and simply walk right past towards more loot, but not Dr DisRepect. The popular streamer, who is known for producing funny moments during his Twitch livestreams, was playing with MattyG13 when he came across the green room near Shifty Shafts. The Doc alerted his teammate about the room, before making a very big change to what was on the walls. “It’s the green room again. That’s pretty cool man. Ah, I wonder what we could do here” ” he said, with a smirk on his face. “Hey! Look at him. You should see the special effected over here, MattyG. Look at this guy. Check it out!” As MattyG entered the room, he noticed that the reason Dr DisRespect was so happy was because his face was plastered across all of the walls, and even the floor in this hilarious clip. The art which was posted onto the green screens promoted his Twitch account, which currently has just over 3 million followers. Dr DisRepect has been talking about not wanting to play the same VR shooter as popular streamer Shroud, who has been playing Contractors. The Doc believes it’s too basic in terms of its design. “[Contractors] is like the most basic approach to a game in VR. It’s cool,” he said. “I guess I’m at the point of creativity and game design that I’ve seen it all. I want something that blows my mind.”

Dr Disrespect says he’ll never play Fortnite again after Tilted Towers update – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect says he’ll never play Fortnite again after Tilted Towers update Dr Disrespect/Epic GamesDr Disrespect hopped back into Fortnite for the return of Tilted Towers, but by the end of the stream he was ready to swear off the battle royale for good. A brand new Fortnite update went live on January 18, bringing back the infamous Tilted Towers POI to the game, along with a host of other changes. At first, the Two-Time seemed pumped to head back into the battle royale with TimTheTatman, CouRage, and ZLaner, but by the end of his stream he said he never wanted to play the game again. “I’m not f**king playing this game ever again” Clip starts at 5:37:08 for mobile viewers. According to Doc, all of the hype surrounding the return of Tilted actually had him in the mood to play Fortnite — a game that he’s known to despise. After about five hours though, it was clear he’d had enough. “Listen, people talking about Tilted, I saw 14 different tweets from CouRage, it got me a little excited,” Doc explained. “I thought we’d just jump in.” After Tim asked what his thoughts were on the latest Fortnite update, Doc said he never wanted to step foot on the island ever again. “I’m not f**king playing this game ever again after today,” the Two-Time shot back. “Just so I’m clear, you’d rather play Warzone?” Tim asked. “No, I’m playing Tarkov, I’ll take my 95% viewership drop,” Doc replied. While he did struggle through one more game, and was even able to nab one last Victory Royale, he was done. It’s not the first time Doc has claimed he’s fnished with Fortnite, so only time will tell whether or not he ends up coming back. However, the return of Tilted Towers definitely wasn’t enough to change his mind this time.

Dr Disrespect “leaks” his own Fortnite skin launch, but is it real? – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect “leaks” his own Fortnite skin launch, but is it real? Epic/YouTube/DrDisrespectPopular YouTuber Dr Disrespect shared a possible first look at his very own Fortnite skin, but chances are it’s just not real. Fortnite was one of the first games to introduce skin crossovers with numerous different IPs and content creators ending up in Epic’s battle royale. From Star Wars and Marvel characters to Eminem and Ninja, there’s no shortage of spectacular skins, but one creator has yet to receive his own: Dr Disrespect. On December 19, the two-time shared footage of what appears to be his own Fortnite skin including a red car with his logo on it. The only question is, is it real? Is a Dr Disrespect skin really coming to Fortnite? Unfortunately, as cool as the skin may look, it doesn’t appear to be real. The screen notably shows the old Fortnite locker interface. In a post on X, Dr Disrespect filmed his computer, where his Fortnite skin was on display holding a couple of trophies. “Shh, let’s just keep this between us if you can,” he whispered as he cycled through cosmetics. Fans were instantly blown away and couldn’t wait to get their hands on the skin so they could unleash their own variation of violence, speed and momentum in the battle royale. “Honestly one of the few streamer skins I’d grab immediately!” one praised. “I don’t play Fortnite but I’d play it just to buy this skin,” remarked another. Fortnite has yet to announce a Dr Disrespect skin will be coming to the game, so this seems to be just an elaborate troll by the two-time. Still, given the fan reaction, Epic may want to consider giving the skin a go, especially with fans willing to give Fortnite a chance if they can get their hands on the cosmetic.

Dr Disrespect loses his mind over Fortnite Chapter 2 trailer – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect loses his mind over Fortnite Chapter 2 trailer L: Dr Disrespect R: Epic GamesIt’s no secret that Fortnite and the leaked Chapter 2 trailer might have been his breaking point. The wildly successful Twitch streamer has always been vocal with his displeasure of games and Fortnite has not been exempt from that criticism. Following the conclusion of Season X, Fortnite has been stuck in a black hole with no indications on when it’ll be back up, and Doc has already hoped it would never return and has bashed it in the past for being the most “soulless” game in history. Doc always wants his opinion heard. Of course, Fortnite was always going to come back and it looks like the new trailer for the upcoming chapter has finally broke the Two-Time for good. He watched the trailer multiple times on his stream, expressing his “pleasure” every step of the way. However, to those who know the Doc, they’ll know every compliment he gave was soaked with sarcasm. “Fortnite 2 Battle Pass,” he yelled. “One more time, he’s on an offshore racing boat! This is it! This is it! This is what we’re all getting excited for! It’s back! Fortnite 2 is going to save so many careers.” He slowly slid down in his chair before completely disappearing off camera yelling about his excitement but not before watching the trailer several times. Doc has had an up and down Fortnite career, often being one of the games featured during his Triple-Threat Challenges, but has uninstalled the game on more than one occasion. The Two-Time will surely check out the game at least a few times when Chapter 2 finally launches, but there’s no telling how long he’ll stick with it. He is a self-proclaimed fan of racing boats, so maybe that was genuine excitement when he saw that and it could be enough to pique his interest. We currently have no idea when Fortnite will be back online, with some leaks suggesting it could be as late as October 17. Stay with us at Dexerto for more information regarding the future of Fortnite.

Dr DisRespect has hilarious interaction with a fan during Fortnite duos game – Dexerto
Dr DisRespect has hilarious interaction with a fan during Fortnite duos game Popular Twitch streamer Guy ‘Dr DisRespect’ Beahm had a memorable (and hilarious) interaction with a fan during a Fortnite Duos session on his stream. As the two were about to drop into the map, Doc asked the fan, “What do you think about a Sim racing event where the Doctor competes against other pros, but he has a Lamborghini setup?” The fan appeared to pay him no mind, and instead responded with, “Alright, we’re goin’ Tilted, baby,” in reference to the game’s Tilted Towers location. The Doc appeared to be pretty off-put by the fan’s flippance. “Alright, good talk,” he said. “Sorry, Doc, what did you say?” The fan asked in monotone. “I’m trying to focus.” The Doc apparently took this as a challenge. “Alright, you do you, and I’ll do me, and we’ll see who comes out on top on Tilted,” he stated. That wasn’t even the best part of their interaction. As the Doc fell into the map, the fan referenced the streamer’s famous catchphrase. “We’ve got the VIOLENCE!,” he shouted. “We’ve got the SPEED! And we’ve got the momentum, Doc!” The Doc was obviously pleased by this reference and let out a warlike, guttural scream – which led to some pretty heavy emote spam in the chat. Let it never be said that the Doc isn’t an enthusiastic individual. His entire conversation with the fan is pretty stellar, and you can catch their entire interaction here: Watch Random Duo Discussions | !prime | @DrDisRespect from DrDisRespectLIVE on www.twitch.tv

Dr Disrespect claims Fortnite no-build mode is held back by one key thing – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect claims Fortnite no-build mode is held back by one key thing Epic Games / YouTube: Dr DisrespectDr Disrespect is a huge fan of Fortnite’s new Zero Build mode but believes it’s held back by one thing — kids playing the game with controller aim assist running rampant in lobbies. Epic Games made waves by trialing a no-build mode in Fortnite, and those waves turned into a tsunami after they decided to make it permanent in the form of a new mode. Many streamers were delighted with the addition. Doc is even on board with it, too. He admitted it was “fun,” which is something he thought he’d never say about the game. However, now that he’s had time to sink his teeth into it, he believes it’s held back by one thing — aim assist. “I feel like the Fortnite no-build mode was built for me,” said the two-time. “Super athletic, high mobility, slide 360 sniper shots, shotty in your face, etc.” So, he’s definitely doubled down on being a fan of the mode. However, he added his biggest gripe with it at the end. “Just sucks aim assist controller junky kids are intermixed.” It’s a view he’s expressed multiple times in the past, particularly with Apex Legends and Warzone. I feel like the Fortnite no build mode was built for me. Super athletic, high mobility, slide 360 sniper shots, shotty in your face etc etc. Just sucks aim assist controller junky kids are intermixed. — Dr Disrespect (@DrDisrespect) April 3, 2022 In fact, the two-time has even compared it to hacking. “At this point, you might as well just call it hacks,” he said. “It’s like a version of hacks. Except they’re not all headshots, but all the bullets do go onto your body.” The burning rage he feels toward aim-assist has also caused him to snap and punch his chair. So, it’s not surprising to see it’s his biggest gripe with Fortnite, regardless of how much he loves the new Zero Build mode.

Dr Disrespect reveals genius idea to make Fortnite Zero Build mode even better – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect reveals genius idea to make Fortnite Zero Build mode even better YouTube: Dr Disrespect / Epic GamesAfter pondering ways to make Fortnite’s Zero Build mode better, Dr Disrespect revealed a genius idea coined “regenerating ammo reload technology” that he thinks could take it to the next level. Dr Disrespect has had a blast on Fortnite Zero Build since he returned to the game, bringing violence, speed, and momentum to lobbies once again. However, he believes it isn’t perfect and suggested some changes in recent sessions. The two-time reiterated that desire once more after losing a gunfight during his latest stream, but this time, he pitched a genius idea similar to something seen in other games that he believes could make it better. “I get the shot on him first. Everything’s fine. We were locked in there, and all of a sudden, we didn’t have any ammo for the shotgun,” said Doc after losing a battle. “I didn’t really understand. I had no idea. I’m not paying attention.” He elaborated on that point, saying: “I’m just expecting my weapons to be reloaded. I think after a certain amount of time, your weapon should just be reloaded. I don’t want to think about it. I don’t want to even think about it.” This prompted the two-time to have a brain spark. Rather than basking in his anger and frustration, he channeled it into a genius idea called “regenerating ammo reload technology” and explained how it works. “I spray an entire gun and then switch over to a secondary,” he said enthusiastically. “But while I switch it over, the first weapon is charging the bullets, and it’s already getting loaded up. Unload to reload technology.” The idea is similar to a perk some weapons have in Destiny 2 where they automatically reload when stowed. Apex Legends does something similar with gold rarity magazines. However, the two-time wants to see it in Fortnite. Epic Games has innovated on features that exist in other games and added them to Fortnite in the past. Look no further than respawn trucks, zip lines, and even the ping system. So perhaps this will be next, but we’ll have to wait and see.

Dr Disrespect explains his wild strategy for the future of Fortnite – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect explains his wild strategy for the future of Fortnite Gfuel/Epic GamesTwitch star Dr Disrespect has aimed yet another dig at Fortnite Battle Royale, giving an eccentric explanation of what he thinks Epic Games should do with the game in the future. The Doc has always been a vocal critic of the popular Battle Royale game, often discussing his disdain for the game in his stream or on Twitter. His most recent rant came on Monday, September 30, while playing rival battle royale game Apex Legends. “They’re just pumping out stuff,” the Two-Time said. “You’ve got to be braindead to, like…”, he continued, unable to put his thoughts into a coherent sentence. Ever the helpful streamer, though, the Doc did come up with some suggestions for what Epic Games should do going forward. “I would put out the final season,” he started. “Make it the biggest, best season and make it final. And then disappear for about two years… Then come back with Fortnite 2. Think about that.” A sequel wasn’t the only suggestion Dr Disrespect had, either. He also said that the first tournament of Fortnite 2 should feature a $1 billion prize pool, before directly addressing Epic, saying: that “if you need a PR guy – I’m not gonna be him.” While the Doc may not have been serious when he came up with these ideas, it’s certainly something to think about. A $1 billion tournament may be out of budget, even by Epic Games’ standards, but arguably the world’s most popular game going on hiatus for two years would inevitably generate a lot of excitement if it was to re-release. Maybe that lengthy break is what it would take for Dr Disrespect to finally enjoy Fortnite. Is Fortnite 2 a possibility? Fortnite Battle Royale was released in September 2017, and has enjoyed success many games could only dream of. Epic Games have made more money from the title than they would have ever envisioned, so one day Fortnite 2 may become a real possibility if business slows down. However, we wouldn’t count on it. With the way the game operates, with a new season every three months and constant changes and updates coming out, it’s unlikely we’re ever going to see a sequel. Looking at other popular titles such as League of Legends, Dota 2 and CS:GO, if we do get a sequel, we will have to wait several years to see that come to fruition.

Dr Disrespect declares unexpected final verdict between Fortnite and PUBG – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect declares unexpected final verdict between Fortnite and PUBG Bluehole / Dr DisRespect / Epic GamesIn a hilarious twist of fate, popular Twitch streamer Dr DisRespect gave what seems to be his final opinion on which battle royale out of PUBG and Fortnite reigns supreme. Dr DisRespect has been highly critical of Fortnite and PUBG in the past, but fans showed a range of multitude of reactions ranging from astonishment to ovation from the Doc’s final word on the matter of which is best. The Doc got rid of PUBG from his computer while praising Fortnite’s superiority over the “unathletic, boring” battle royale, and saying he’ll never return to the shooter he’s chastised before. The Doc was looking to loot a house on Sanhok when he was killed by a creeping player around a corner, which triggered the streamer’s frustrations to “never play [PUBG] again.” “I’m just not interested in playing [PUBG], it’s just so boring,” Dr DisRespect said. “It’s so pathetic. So unathletic. The Doc was left stunned by PUBG’s terribly designed mechanics, while declaring his preference to Fortnite. Read more: Leaked ‘Ice Storm’ Fortnite in-game event may be coming soon and it includes a new set of challenges – The announcement came to many viewers’ applause, as the Doc had been a notable absence to Epic Game’s legion of fans. The gesture seemed to be more of a slight toward PUBG, although the Doc had a ton of great things to say about Fortnite’s impeccable development. “Believe it or not, and I thought I’d never say this, playing Fortnite and then going back to [PUBG]… Fortnite just blows [PUBG] away in terms of the response time, athleticism, the movement,” the Doc said. Dr Disrespect wipes Fortnite from his Twitter after Season 2 update – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect wipes Fortnite from his Twitter after Season 2 update Twitch: Dr Disrespect / Epic GamesThe latest Fortnite Chapter 2 update has failed to wow one of the game’s biggest critics, Dr Disrespect, with the Two-Time choosing to delete all reference of the game from his Twitter after ranting about the game’s “false perception” of excellence. Fortnite’s mega Chapter 2: Season 2 update brought a host of long-awaited changes to Epic’s popular battle royale, including a new Battle Pass, map changes, and the opening of the vault to some of Chapter 1’s more exciting weapons. While Dr Disrespect has been giving Fortnite more of a crack on stream recently, all of his enthusiasm was curbed by the new update. Losing game-after-game, the Doc was fed up. One particular gunfight drew the ire of the streamer, after he was one shot with an assault rifle in close range, even though he landed an almost-perfect shotgun blast first. It was enough to send him over the edge, divulging on a huge rant about how “garbage and overhyped” the latest update for Fortnite seems to be. “Enough of this f**king one-ramp, two-ramp, wall, ceiling, floor, and then shotgun blast that does f**king nothing because we’re doing a coinflip up in the air,” he said. “I don’t want to play it anymore. “I want intelligent, paced games, with open worlds, and skill gap games. I want to be able to aim and shoot and have that be part of the skill and not some f**king bloom weapon or some randomized number that’s put on my shotgun.” After composing himself from his devastating loss, the Doc reshared his thoughts in a more reserved manner, and his optimism for the new season content is low. “The game is dying, and they’re trying to squeeze anything out of this game,” he added. “Let me tell you, after looking at that content, good luck with the rest of the season like holy sh*t. Good luck with that for a couple of months. He also made his intentions clear on what he wants to see from Epic — a game that, to him, lives up to its hype as an ‘era-defining’ title. Until that happens, he’s not going to tweet about the game. “I want something to bring me to the next level of gaming development,” he explained. “I want f**king massive worlds and expanding narratives — I don’t know man, I’m just a big thinker. I think big, I don’t think small like this game. “It’s created this false perception that it’s the game that sets the bar, that pushes the envelope of video games from a mainstream standpoint, and I hate it.” The Doc is not the only one to be displeased with some of the new additions to Season 2. Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins slammed Epic for unvaulting the Mythic Drum Gun, labelling the gun “disgusting.” However, whether Doc will actually delete the battle royale for good this time remains to be seen. He’s criticized the game multiple times, and given it second chances, but the new update has at least struck enough of a nerve to stop giving the game publicity for the foreseeable future.

Dr DisRespect compares Epic Games to Daybreak after hilarious, rage-induced Fortnite death – Dexerto
Dr DisRespect compares Epic Games to Daybreak after hilarious, rage-induced Fortnite death Popular Twitch streamer Dr DisRespect has had enough of Fortnite Battle Royale, paying its developers a pretty bad insult during a moment of pure rage. Having seven eliminations with only three enemy players left, the Doc was nearing the end of a Fortnite match that would have been a nice little victory for him. However, that was all thrown by the wayside when another player swooped in on his X-4 Stormwing plane and eliminated the Doc, which triggered his rage-filled reaction. Incenced by the way he had been killed in-game, the Doc began ranting about how “clueless” Epic Games were and likened them to Daybreak Game Company, the developers who produced H1Z1, another popular battle royale game. “Good job Daybreak! Might as well call Epic Games Daybreak because they’re stupid and they’re clueless!” he ranted. “Might as well call them stupid and clueless from Daybreak Games from North Carolina!” It’s clear that one of Doc’s biggest contentions with the current state of the game is how powerful the X-4 Stormwings are, which seems to be in line with what most other popular streamers and pro players are complaining about as well. “‘Yeah let’s have some airplanes in it so they can just fly around and fly around and fly around and drop in and third party the guy!’” he went on. “Fucking dumb dude! Fucking game sucks man! This game fucking sucks, you hear me?! It sucks! It’s overrated! It’s overrated! With Doc’s temper running at an all-time high and his spit flying around the facecam, as usual, he could not hold his anger back and had to take a small break from the stream to regain his composure. Those who have followed the Doc for a while will know of his up-and-down history with Daybreak and H1Z1. Despite having his own personalized in-game cosmetic items, the Doc was often very critical of the game’s development, which is a main reason why he switched to PUBG when the game died down. He sure hasn’t forgotten those past experiences, and while him likening Epic to Daybreak is unfair considering the contrast of the two companies’ successes, it should still be seen as a serious insult. This was the Doc’s second rage-filled Fortnite moment in as many days as the streamer was clipped ranting similarly about some of the game’s core issues in his previous stream.

Dr Disrespect completely changes his mind on Fortnite with no-building mode – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect completely changes his mind on Fortnite with no-building mode YouTube: Dr Disrespect/Epic GamesTo launch Season 2 of Fortnite, Epic Games made the bold decision to remove building from the game completely for a limited time, and players are already loving it — including notorious Fortnite critic and streaming phenom, Dr Disrespect. Fortnite’s distinguishing USP to separate it from other battle royale titles, among a litany of other unique features, has always been the building. More than just being able to shoot straight, players have had to be great at out-building their opponents, getting the sneaky edits in, and doing anything possible to get the better of (or get away from) their opponents. While many players have always loved it, much of the original playerbase dropped off when the building aspect got ‘too out of hand’ and it became harder to compete. Thus, the no-building aspect in Season 2 has attracted a lot of attention. With streamers like Ninja and Tfue already becoming huge fans of the game in its current state, there has been a lot of positive feedback to the game being reduced to just gun versus gun. While Dr Disrespect has always been one of Fortnite’s biggest critics, even at its peak when every top streamer was playing it 24/7, it appears his mind could be changed. “It was actually fun,” he told Tfue, who tweeted demanding the change be made permanent. “Thought I’d never say that about Fortnite. Ever.” It was actually fun. Thought I’d never say that about Fortnite. Ever. — Dr Disrespect (@DrDisrespect) March 22, 2022 The Doc has been streaming some Fortnite again since the change and, while he’s been frustrated by it while hunting solo wins, he’s clearly enjoying it a bit more than he used to. With so much positivity surrounding the change, however, it will be interesting to see whether Epic Games decide to make the move permanent, or even bring it in as a separate mode.

Dr Disrespect challenges Ninja to Fortnite showdown amid no-build mode hype – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect challenges Ninja to Fortnite showdown amid no-build mode hype Epic Games / YouTube: Dr Disrespect / NinjaOn the back of Epic Games removing building in Fortnite, Dr Disrespect challenged the game’s most iconic player, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, to a showdown, claiming he’d make quick work of him. Epic Games turned the gaming scene upside down by temporarily removing building in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2. The change has been positively received from many streamers, including Dr Disrespect and Pokimane. Some are even calling to make it permanent. Ninja said it was the most fun he’s had on the game in years. However, the two-time wants to nip his excitement in the bud by proving he’s the vastly superior gamer. Doc laid down the challenge after Ninja posted a video gushing about how much he’s enjoying the game. “Fortnite with no building gives me the hardest OG Fortnite vibes ever,” said Ninja. “Enjoy this simple but clean shockwave clip.” Doc responded, saying: “I’d wipe you so fast without building now. You and I both know this.” After all, the building mechanic was the only thing the two-time couldn’t get his head around, and now that’s gone. Sadly, Ninja pointed out that it can’t happen. “We will never know,” he said, referring to the fact that Twitch streamers aren’t allowed to play with the two-time, let alone watch him, following his mysterious ban. I’d wipe you so fast without building now. You and I both know this… — Dr Disrespect (@DrDisrespect) March 25, 2022 The community guidelines state: “It is prohibited to use your channel to knowingly feature or advertise a suspended user.” It also says that users are expected to make a “good faith effort” to remove them from a broadcast. While they could match up off-stream — or make a YouTube video out of it — it wouldn’t have the same level of hype. So, unless things change in Doc’s case, that Fortnite challenge will be put on ice.

Dr Disrespect brings back “Fortnite is Forever” song for Chapter 3 return – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect brings back “Fortnite is Forever” song for Chapter 3 return Dr Disrespect celebrated his return to Fortnite during Chapter 3 with his iconic “Fortnite is Forever” music video. Dr Disrespect is a man of many titles. The Doc, The Two-Time, The Back to back 1993-1994 blockbuster video game champion; just to name a few. And most recently, he’s acquired the title of a musician. Soon after he was banned from Twitch, he began releasing original music videos. Tracks such as Alleyways, Red Skies, and Eclipse featured his iconic synthwave instrumentals and emotional lyrics. However, some of the most iconic Doc songs are made by his fans. These include Gillette (The Best A Man Can Get) and Fortnite is Forever. Fortnite is Forever music video returns The Doc returned to Fortnite for the first time in over a year. Missing more than half of Chapter 2, he and CourageJD looked to slay out in Fortnite Chapter 3. And to commemorate his comeback, he reminded his viewers of a long-forgotten music video. Before dropping into his first round of Chapter 3, Dr Disrespect shared one of his fan-made music videos from over two years ago. The music video is titled “Fortnite is Forever” and it was made by the now-retired SLICK DADDY CLIPS YouTube Channel. Despite being a song that’s meant to make fun of younger Fortnite players, it’s a surprisingly good track. It’s more upbeat than the moodier synth tracks fans are used to, but the edited vocals and catchy rhythm make it hard not to jam along. He showcases the video around the 47-minute mark of the video below. Fortnite may be forever, but Doc’s return is likely to be short-lived. During his stream with CourageJD, both streamers would often reference the reasons they inevitably leave the game. According to the streamer, Fortnite’s building doesn’t allow him to play the way he wants. He would rather run up to someone and use a shotgun, but building prevents him from playing aggressively. Dr Disrespect brutally roasts Epic Games after Fortnite x Star Wars event – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect brutally roasts Epic Games after Fortnite x Star Wars event Twitch star Guy ‘Dr Disrespect’ Beahm has taken shots at game developers after the highly anticipated Fortnite x Star Wars event took place on December 14. The popular battle royale game took things to the next level after debuting an exclusive scene from upcoming movie, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, in-game as part of the latest collaboration. However, unlike many who tuned in to witness the in-game event, Twitch streamer Dr Disrespect was not impressed with what he saw, sending shots at the game’s developers. Fortnite’s latest in-game event shared a short clip of the latest movie while also including an appearance from JJ Abrams before giving players the opportunity to even wield their choice of Lightsaber after the scene had finished. Although the event had received overwhelming support and excitement from the fans, Dr Disrespect claimed that the event was lacking in creativity, taking shots at some of the game’s developers. “I decided to watch this little Fortnite Star Wars collaboration that the entire industry had decided to hype up,” The Twitch star admitted, “from a creative standpoint, I thought it was seventh-grade bullsh*t, what a f**king joke!” The popular streamer then took the time to address upcoming game developers, sending them a message of encouragement to out-do what Epic Games had pulled off with Fortnite’s latest collaboration, “Young inspirational developers, whether you’re in high school, grade school, college, don’t you f**king dare look at Fortnite development and say that is the bar. That ain’t a creative bar it’s a technical bar.” Dr Disrespect continued on, suggesting that game developers from other titles could put something together that could be even more creative than the Star Wars event, “They’ve got the technological advantage simply because they’re using some Unreal Engine but does that separate them creatively, talent-wise, from you? Not at all.” One of the Doc’s fellow streamers, Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek, called out developers Battlestate Games in particular by tagging them in the post and replying with the “TARKOV,” hinting that they should take notes from Dr Disrespect’s video for the development of Escape from Tarkov. With Epic Games continually looking to raise the bar when it comes to in-game events, it will be interesting to see over the next few months which game developers, if any, will look to take the Doc’s advice and try to best what Fortnite has put on so far.

Dr Disrespect blasts Epic Games over his biggest Fortnite complaint – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect blasts Epic Games over his biggest Fortnite complaint Mega-popular Twitch streamer Dr Disrespect has had his fair share of run ins with game developers, and the latest to face his fury is Fortnite creator Epic Games. After becoming disinterested in both PUBG and Blackout, the Doc has switched focus to another battle royale title, and the number one game in the world, Fortnite. Since the start of 2019, the former level designer at Sledgehammer Games has almost exclusively played Fortnite, preferring it over its competition, but that doesn’t mean he has no issues with it at all. In typical Dr Disrespect fashion, he wasn’t exactly respectful in communicating his biggest ‘concern’ with the game. Calling the Epic Games team the “Epic Fortnite nerds from North Carolina”, the Doc was enraged at audio problems, which had ultimately caused him to be eliminated after he couldn’t hear an enemy, that he claims was only five feet away. “Hey, Epic Fortnite nerdy developers from North Carolina, we have no audio! Sometimes there’s just no audio! That’s a concern”, Dr Disrespect exclaimed, “That’s a big, big concern. […] Hey, nerdy Epic, North Carolina, Fortnite, skinny, ugly looking nerds, developer group – you got some issues with your audio team.” Dr Disrespect has had some humorous names for developers in the past, namely PUBG devs ‘Bluehole Entertainment’, which he affectionately named ‘Blue Balls Entertainment, but “Epic Fortnite nerds from North Carolina” might be the best yet. While game developers will be happy to have one of the biggest names in streaming bringing more attention to the game, when it comes to Dr Disrespect, you can never be sure that it will be the right kind of attention.

Dr Disrespect bashes Fortnite as “most soulless” game in history – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect bashes Fortnite as “most soulless” game in history Dr Disrespect – Twitch / UHD PixelStar Twitch streamer Dr Disrespect is at odds with Fortnite Battle Royale again, once more expressing his displeasure with it to his fans. When it comes to top streamers and content creators who play Fortnite, even if from time to time, you would be hard-pressed to find one who dislikes the game more than Dr Disrespect. Since the battle royale title’s rise to prominence, the Doc has regularly taken shots at it and developers Epic Games, often dismissing the game as “pathetic” and too childish. The latest chapter of his crusade against Fortnite came on August 28, when he blasted the game both on his Twitter page and Twitch channel. “Fortnite is the most overrated soulless game in the history of game development. Period,” he tweeted. “Gaming industry, let’s move on.” Fortnite is the most overrated soulless game in the history of game development. Period. Gaming industry, lets move on. — Dr Disrespect (@drdisrespect) August 28, 2019 Following that tweet, things got even spicier on his livestream, when he was playing one of his iconic ‘Triple Threat’ challenges, which require him to win a solos match on Fortnite, PUBG, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout battle royale. During the Fortnite phase of the challenge, he pretty much maintained an attitude of discontent and loathing, slamming the game as he was playing it. “This game is a mash of just ideas and designs because they have the engine to do it,” he said. “There’s nothing soulful about this game. This game has no soul. It’s the most soulless game in existence of video games.” The Doc went off on Fortnite :eyes: (via @drdisrespect) pic.twitter.com/bBBURhHc73 — B/R Gaming (@BRGaming) August 28, 2019 The Two-Time’s comments come at what has been a very tumultuous time for Fortnite and Epic Games, whose contentious relationship with the player-base has reached a boiling point. Following the messy BRUTE Mech suit controversy, which was ultimately quelled after several major nerfs were implemented, the community was unleashed into uproar after the developers made a big change to Turbo Building that severely altered fast building techniques. Read More: NBA player perfectly imitates the Doc – After trying to reason with the players by offering an explanation, Epic ended up reverting some of those changes on August 28, which has thus far put them in a much better position in regards to community opinion. However, it seems that not matter what they do or don’t do, the Doc is one player who they’ll probably never get on their side.

Dr Disrespect becomes unhinged while playing Fortnite with random duo – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect becomes unhinged while playing Fortnite with random duo Just before Christmas, Dr Disrespect once again headed into Fortnite duos, and may have finally lost his mind in the process. Despite swearing off Fortnite on multiple occasions and even uninstalling it more times then we can keep track of, the Two-Time has given it another shot after the release of Chapter 2. The honeymoon didn’t last long at all though, with Doc complaining about “ten year old, cheeto-eating little punks” ruining Chapter 2 for everyone else. Recently, during a December 23 stream, the “little kid” playing Fortnite on his duos squad caused Doc to lose the last of his marbles. The best clip from the stream features Doc with a totally not-insane smile on his face as he asks his young teammate where they want to go in a mocking, high-pitched voice. “Happy holidays, and Merry Christmas, to you!” Doc said all while keeping the creepy smile going. “What are you going to get from Santa Claus?” His teammate, who sounded understandably disturbed by the creepy-sounding questions, told Doc he was getting a PC for Christmas, most likely to play Fortnite on. “How much memory is your PC going to have there, little Twist?” Doc asked his teammate in the creepiest way possible, before wishing him a merry Christmas again in the most disturbing way possible. Sadly, “Little Twist” got knocked out quickly after dropping, and the Doc only managed to score 14th place before being knocked out. Sadly, Doc wasn’t able to earn a Fortnite win during the stream before switching it up to PUBG. But who knows? Maybe 2020 will be the year the Two Time finally quits Fortnite for good, if not for his viewer’s sake than his own mental health.

Dr Disrespect says anyone over 13 playing Fortnite “has a problem” – Dexerto
Dr Disrespect says anyone over 13 playing Fortnite “has a problem” In an explosive tirade, Fortnite from his computer but also lashed out at anyone playing the Epic Games title over the age of 13. It’s no secret that Dr Disrespect isn’t the biggest fan of Fortnite, having called for the downfall of the massively popular battle royale title after the Chapter 2 update. Despite his opinions on the game, he often forces himself to play every so often during his ‘Triple Threat Challenge.’ In a recent stream however, tensions were high and an unlucky loss was the final straw that led to the game being outright deleted from his computer. To top it all off, he then unloaded on everyone over the age of 13 that plays Fortnite. In the midst of his novel Triple Threat Challenge that sees the enthralling content creator attempt to claim victory in three unique battle royale titles, Dr Disrespect exploded and hilariously uninstalled Fortnite from his PC. Throughout a November 6 broadcast, the Doc started his campaign with Fortnite and was battling through lobby after lobby for over an hour before he ultimately reached his breaking point. Surviving all the way until the final circle with only one competitor remaining, Doc was unfortunately left in an unwinnable position with low HP. As the storm closed in and the final safe zone disappeared, he yelled “that’s a f*cking victory,” after inevitably dying to the storm and finishing second. “Get me the f*ck off this stupid f*cking game,” he repeated before calling Fortnite a “horrific gaming experience.” With no healing items in hand and the final remaining opponent having built their way to the high ground, there was simply no way for Doc to come out victorious. “Get it off my computer, I don’t want phoneyness,” he continued as he proceeded to uninstall the game and follow up by unloading on the Fortnite community. Read more:PUBG and test out the Apex Legends. There’s no telling whether Doc will completely remove Fortnite from the Triple Threat Challenge moving forward, or if he’ll reinstall the game later down the line and test his luck once more. Either way, it’s safe to say that Fortnite might be his least favorite battle royale title after this fiery outburst. –

Dr DisRespect explains his biggest issue with Fortnite traps during extended rant – Dexerto
Dr DisRespect explains his biggest issue with Fortnite traps during extended rant Dr DisRespect / Epic GamesFortnite has seen its fair share of busted items and overpowered weapons, but Dr DisRespect shared his grief on what he believes is the largest nuisance that still troubles the game after all this time. Epic Games routinely introduces different entries to Fortnite’s arsenal, each providing a different take on eliminating enemies, but the Doc believes one item that tends to overstay its welcome is a major hindrance for the game. The Doc was at the tail end of long series of firefights when he stumbled upon a dead foe’s Spike Trap attached to a ceiling, which led the streamer to vent his frustration toward the item that stays in play after its owner is long gone from the server. The Two-time Back-to-Back World Champion had just cleaned up a few enemies before being forced to use a Port-a-Rift after having his health significantly chunked down due to a fallen player’s leftover trap. “I’ve been saying this forever and ever and ever and ever…” the Doc said. “If the person that dies that was in the game set a trap before he died, [then] after he dies, the trap has got to go.” The most striking detail of Doc’s evaluation lies in its abnormal delivery. The streamer isn’t so much mad but disappointed. An issue in a game like this would usually throw the streamer into a frenzy, but the complaint seems to be coming from Dr DisRespect’s alter ego Guy Beahm who previously worked for renown game developer Sledgehammer Games as a level designer. “I think it’s stupid that the traps remain in [after its owners die]. That right there is grade 6,” Dr DisRespect said. The streamer was dumbfounded that the apparent flaw continues to be in the game, while finding no solace at his match’s conclusion further berating Fortnite’s developers.

Dr DisRespect goes on incredible rant about Fortnite after uninstalling the game – Dexerto
Dr DisRespect goes on incredible rant about Fortnite after uninstalling the game Despite exclusively playing battle royale games on his Twitch channel, Dr DisRespect has vowed to never play Fortnite ever again. The two-time Blockbuster Gaming champion is never one to hold anything back when it comes to his opinion, always telling his viewers like it is every stream. Following that trend, he offered some strong opinions about Fortnite during his stream on November 21. When a donator asked what game to start with if they wanted to become competitive in a first-person shooter, The Doc made it clear how he felt about the popular battle royale title. “Definitely not Fortnite, get it off your computer,” The Doc responded. “Like I did this morning. I uninstalled the game.” His uninstalling the game wasn’t just a temporary thing, either, as he seemingly swore off the game for good. “I’ve never playing the game on this channel ever again. I’ve committed to it. I’ve made that statement and I am going to commit to it for the rest… Fortnite is no more here.” If that wasn’t enough, he also sent out a Tweet after ending his stream that reiterated his stance on the game. Doomsday event coming soon in Fortnite? Clues stacking up – Dexerto
Doomsday event coming soon in Fortnite? Clues stacking up Epic GamesFortnite Battle Royale players might have to prepare themselves for a Doomsday event on the island, with map changes and leaked information pointing towards a major shakeup coming soon. There’s been a few big changes made in Season 2 already, including the introduction of Choppas, Crash Pads and more. However, following the introduction of the v12.30 update on March 31, data miners have been hard at work trying to find things that haven’t yet been announced. Deadpool cosmetics, new weapons and more have been found in the game files, but leakers have also discovered some details about a Doomsday Device that looks set to appear in the Battle Pass menu sometime in the near future. Fortnite Doomsday event clues Leaked Doomsday items in Fortnite Three features were leaked by FortTory after the patch rolled out on all platforms, including the Doomsday Device, Doomsday Hatch and Doomsday Door – which could all be the first clues Epic Games have added about an upcoming event. Many people around the world might be preparing themselves, wrongly or rightly, for a doomsday scenario due to the global crisis, and it seems that soon enough those same concerns will be translating to Fortnite. All leaked items can be seen below. Some are still confused about some things. There are currently 5 hatches around the Agency in the water. The Device is no where to be found YET. But it will most likely pop up in the Doom Room which we probably can access via Midas his room. “The Rooms in the Menu” https://t.co/3PydyA5tmf — FortTory – Fortnite leaks & news (@FortTory) April 1, 2020 Hatches appearing at The Agency For those who still haven’t seen them, next time you drop at The Agency you will notice that five different hatches have been added. These are located in the water and surround the perimeter of the small island. We don’t know where these lead, if anywhere, just yet but there’s a good chance that they will have a similar function to the Porta Potty in Fortnite Season 2 – allowing players to move from place to place by entering. Leaked secret rooms for Battle Pass menu FortTory has also uncovered another potential clue for an upcoming event – secret places. There were a bunch of agency characters added to the game at the beginning of Season 2, one of which was Midas. Soon enough, the leaker has suggested that there may be a secret path to a Doom Room inside of Midas’ room. This will potentially open at some stage, but will it take us through the hatches? We’ll have to wait and see. First picture belongs to the upcoming room for ‘Midas’ and the second image for the ‘DoomsDay’ room. We know little about this Doomsday room but I believe we can access it from Midas his room. pic.twitter.com/qfgDKvqSLe — FortTory – Fortnite leaks & news (@FortTory) March 31, 2020 With two potential events having been leaked for Fortnite since the v12.30 update – a Deadpool event and Doomsday as well – it looks likely that there will be a lot to keep players occupied moving forward. Some members of the community have already had their games glitch out and spotted potentially the first stages of an event, with wires and huge tubing popping up in the Battle Pass menu. Whether or not this all builds up towards an event now, soon, or never, remains to be seen, but the clues are stacking up. We’ll keep you updated if even more changes come up.

Double Barrel Shotgun in Fortnite to be nerfed in v6.0 update – Dexerto
Double Barrel Shotgun in Fortnite to be nerfed in v6.0 update Epic Games have announced that the Double Barrel shotgun in Fortnite will be getting nerfed at the start of Season 6. Eric Williamson, the design lead at Epic Games, took to social media on September 26 to reveal that the weapon will be having its effectiveness reduced once the v6.0 update launches early on September 17. “Double Barrel effectiveness reduction is just one of the balance adjustments coming with Season 6,” he tweeted. “Less than 12 hours to go!” The manner with which Epic have decided to reduce the Double Barrel’s effectiveness is not yet clear, although there are numerous ways which they could have approached it. They could reduce either one or more of weapon’s specifications, such as its range, ammo capacity, pullout time, or fire rate of the second shot. Since its release, this shotgun has become the favorite of many players due to the devastating damage it can deal with its two shot capability. Judging by the wording of Williamson’s tweet, the Double Barrel Shotgun nerf will not be the only weapon adjustment introduced in the v6.0 update. Players will have to wait until the downtime for the Patch Notes to be released to know how the Double Barrel is getting reduced, and what other adjustments are being implemented.

Don Toliver launches Hardpoint game mode in Fortnite – Dexerto
Don Toliver launches Hardpoint game mode in Fortnite FortniteRapper Don Toliver is immersing fans in the world of his upcoming album “Hardstone Psycho” through a new video game collaboration with Fortnite. “Hardstone” drops players into a turf war between two rival biker gangs battling for dominance over Psycho Valley. The game features new and unreleased music from Don Toliver, a fully customized map, immersive gameplay, and more. Players will join one of two squads of eight, fighting for either the Hardstone or Wolves M.C. In a take on a Hardpoint-type game mode, teams will battle to capture key locations across the map, inspired by Don Toliver’s new album. “I’ve been playing Fortnite for years, so this is a huge moment for me to bring my world into the game,” says Don Toliver. “This is a next-level creative moment in my career, and it’s crazy that my fans will actually get to experience Psycho Valley and music from my new album this way.” Fortnite has worked with many artists in the past through Fortnite Festival and in-game events; this is the first time they have partnered with an artist to create a video game through the Fortnite version of Unreal Engine 5. Hardpoint is more well known in the world of Call of Duty, where players on two teams battle it out on common ground to see who can control the point for the longest. However, that beloved CoD game mode is coming to Fortnite in this collaboration. This isn’t the first time Hardpoint is being brought to a new shooter title either, as recently the newly released XDefinant also added a similar version as part of their game mode rotation. Players will be able to jump into the world of Psycho Valley in Fortnite starting on June 10 for free. To access the Hardpoint-themed game mode, players can search for “Hardstone” in the main menu.

Doom Slayer in Fortnite: Insiders claim Xbox & Bethesda crossovers coming – Dexerto
Doom Slayer in Fortnite: Insiders claim Xbox & Bethesda crossovers coming Epic Games, BethesdaFortnite players could be dropping into the island as the Doom Slayer and other Xbox favorites, as new rumors suggest an incredible roster of characters for 2022. It has been an outstanding year for Fortnite, as the beloved battle royale has added a wealth of exciting characters to its roster. Whether you’re a fan of The Matrix Resurrections, Spider-Man: No Way Home, or Boba Fett, there has been something for everyone over the course of 2021. The game’s ambitious collection of characters is going to expand in 2022, as the XboxEra podcast reveals iconic Microsoft characters are due to make their Fortnite debut. Bethesda, Xbox, and Microsoft favorites headed to Fortnite According to Nick ‘Shpeshal Nick’ Baker, co-host of the XboxEra podcast, Microsoft is gearing up to release a heap of Xbox-themed characters within Fortnite. While Baker and co-host Jeff Grubb don’t give away the full roster, Baker does reveal that Bethesda’s revered Doom Slayer will eventually debut in the game. “Microsoft’s had the Gears characters, Microsoft’s had Master Chief in there…they’ll be more Microsoft / Bethesda characters coming to Fortnite,” Baker initially revealed on the podcast. “I’m not going to spoil all of them, but one of them is the Doom Slayer,” added Baker when detailing the timeframe for these new characters. Grubb theorizes that Fortnite will expand its roster exponentially to include some of the gaming world’s best characters: “By the end of 2022, expect a lot just video game characters. Because they’re sort of running of famous movie characters.” However, Baker says that characters like the Doom Slayer could take months to release: “I don’t know timelines, especially with Fortnite…I think the original Naruto rumors cropped in May 2022. When did Naruto actually appear in Fortnite? Like six months later.” Regardless of when the Doom Slayers rips and tears his way into Fortnite, it will no doubt be a thrill to take that character for a spin.

Doja Cat deletes Fortnite post slamming DahjaCat’s skin likeness after community fires back – Dexerto
Doja Cat deletes Fortnite post slamming DahjaCat’s skin likeness after community fires back Vogue Taiwan / Epic GamesDoja Cat hit out at the new DahjaCat skin and cosmetics in Fortnite’s Item Shop due to their perceived likeness. However, the popstar soon deleted the post after waves of players from the community flooded in to put her on blast. Epic Games released concept artist DahjaCat’s own skins and cosmetics into Fortnite on May 17, 2024. It includes the Joy skin, various rainbow-themed cosmetics, and the Roller Vibes Emote, which plays Doja Cat’s song “Kiss Me More” as a further homage to Doja Cat, who inspired the creator’s name. On May 17, Doja Cat posted to Twitter/X to express her distaste with the influenced skin and bundle set: “The Locker Bundle is cringe btw. Don’t care for the adult-baby aesthetic and rollerskates. Has 0 to do with me at all. F**kin sucks.” She instantly faced backlash from the community across socials, who railed in support of DahjaCat. “Let’s start with a f**k you. Bundle is absolute fire, nobody gives a f**k what you think. Best money I’ve ever spent.” one replied. Another added: “Dude I feel so bad for Dahja, I would be devastated to hear my idol trashing on something I put so much love into,” as a player responded: “This is why you don’t idolize celebrities.” Dahja has since responded: “I got my closure, so should the Gwinny gang, please stop sending the hate back and forth with her fans.” They added: “Please don’t hate on Doja in my replies regarding the situation, I’m okay and so should you all, have a good night friends.” This comes just days after Doja Cat complained to Epic Games on her Twitter/X account in a series of posts regarding her issues with Fortnite. She initially won over the community after she was praised for slating the Avatar’s Waterbending mythic and calling the Chains of Hades weapon “horrible and garbage,” which was then removed by Epic.

Does Fortnite’s new Buried Treasure map reveal clues about Season 8? – Dexerto
Does Fortnite’s new Buried Treasure map reveal clues about Season 8? Epic GamesEpic Games might have revealed some hidden clues in the design of Fortnite‘s new Buried Treasure map, potentially about future changes in Season 8. The new item, which was added to the game in the v8.01 patch that went live on March 6, guides players towards the location of several treasure chests across the battle royale island. However, some Fortnite fans think that the location of loot is not the only thing that the Buried Treasure map shows us. In a post to the Fortnite BR subreddit, user Sam-on-reddit has highlighted some graphics found on the left and right of the map which appear to look like mythological creatures. As seen in the photo below, there seems to be sketches of both a Kraken’s tentacles and a dragon – sparking suggestions that they could soon be added to the free-to-play game mode. Some more cynical fans might think that the illustrations are merely for decoration, with one user saying they’re there just to look “cool” in the Reddit thread. Nevertheless, it could be yet another suggestion that Fortnite is moving towards a Sea of Thieves style theme throughout this season – as Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins suggested on March 1. Those who have played Sea of Thieves will know of the Kraken that appears across the seven seas in that game, and perhaps Epic will move Fortnite in a similar direction soon. With that being said, there’s no confirmation about a kraken – or dragon, for that matter – being added to Fortnite any time soon.

Does there need to be a change to ziplines in Fortnite? – Dexerto
Does there need to be a change to ziplines in Fortnite? Fortnite Season 7 brought about the introduction of ziplines which allow you to quickly move around the map with ease, but they are proving to be a lightning rod of debate as people are calling for one simple change to the new feature. Essentially, the gripe that many Fortnite players have with the new ziplines are that you don’t need to do anything in order to attach to them. Your character will lock-on if they are near one. This means that people can accidentally connect to the new travelling feature, which can quite annoying when you’re in close combat with another player. One solution being put forward in the Fortnite community, and even posted on Reddit as you can see below, is simply introducing the idea of holding a button to connect to the zipline. The straight forward idea has been upvoted by 84% and has attracted a lot of attention. This would eliminate any uncertainty about whether the player wanted to use the feature, which would distance the game from any fault in the case of a consequential death. So, there are certainly positives to that argument. Reddit user xCeePee certainly seemed to agree with the suggestion: “I’m surprised they didn’t add this option in the first update. lol I hate the feeling of being surprised as you literally get snatched away by accidentally getting to close to the zip line hitbox.” Yet, the idea of holding a button as the image suggests, seems to be a bit too drastic of a change for some fans. Mr_502 on Reddit posted this: “I’d rather it be a press interact rather than hold so it’s easier to grab on to in a pinch, but this definitely needs to be at least a toggleable option” One user, Bmammal12, told a story of winning a game on low health but without a final kill as their opponents had accidentally been zipped into the storm. This highlights that even people that have been a beneficiary of the issue can see that a change might be necessary. Many players have also found ziplines to be a handy safety net when they have been left to free fall. Sometimes they can surprise people and keep them alive at times when they thought they were about to die. LeoStoytol, another Reddit user, posted the following: “I agree with this [the earlier post] when I’m fighting and get zipped away. However, you would lose the ability to fall onto one which is pretty dope (like from planes or jumping off a mountain). Maybe a press button instead of hold.” Clips of players being saved by ziplines have been doing the rounds on social media ever since the v7.00 past went live on December 6, however now there seems to be a consensus building about perhaps a need for change to the feature. Based on comments from the community, it could be a good option – moving forward – for Epic Games to introduce a patch which makes people click a button by default to access a zipline. But, for gamers who don’t have a problem with how it runs now, enable them to toggle the option on and off in the controller settings. We would like to know what you think about the issue. Or, if you even think there is an issue! Tweet us @Dexerto and keep tabs on our Fortnite page for your daily fill of battle royale news.

Does Cloak’s latest deal confirm a future without an esports organization? – Dexerto
Does Cloak’s latest deal confirm a future without an esports organization? Former Fortnite team captain Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore split from the organization and has since signed with Loaded, a management firm that also represents Twitch superstar Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins. FaZe Clan lost two prominent members of their Fortnite team in 2019 in Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney and Cloak, after both alleged they had poor contracts with the team. Tfue hasn’t announced his future plans but Cloak signed with a management firm that might hint at what his future holds going forward. Cloak signed with Loaded, a firm that represents other top streamers and they will manage his digital distribution, merchandise deals, brand partnerships, endorsements, personal appearances and more going forward, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “I am excited to be managed by Loaded,” he said. “They have continued to set the bar as one of the top management firms in the game. I can’t wait to see where this will take me.” It’s not entirely clear what this means for Cloak going forward but the fact he signed to an agency might indicate he is going to move forward without the help of an organization. Other streamers, such as Ben ‘DrLupo‘ Lupo, are signed to the same firm but also are signed to teams, in DrLupo’s case, Rogue. For the most part, those signed to the firm are not with esports organizations due to the fact that sponsorships could clash, but management firms like Loaded could negotiate with a new organization to make sure sponsorships don’t clash. The 24-year-old is one of Fortnite’s biggest and brightest talents, with hundreds of thousands of followers on Twitch, Twitter, and YouTube. This means that his earning potential could be higher on his own than with a team, even with a salary. Under his old contract, FaZe had the option to collect much of his earnings, especially through brand deals. Despite his talent, Cloak did not qualify for the Fortnite World Cup Finals but there’s he’s still one of the top-earning pros, with over $400,000 as of mid-July.

Do animals despawn in LEGO Fortnite? – Dexerto
Do animals despawn in LEGO Fortnite? In the vast survival world of LEGO Fortnite, featuring diverse biomes, craftables, and beloved animals, a common question arises: Do animals despawn if left unattended? Animals in LEGO Fortnite play an important role in getting the tools necessary to survive. But, unlike Minecraft, there seems to be a limited number of animals in each area. Some may want to corral these animals and use their resources for crafting but LEGO Fortnite has a big issue with animal spawn rate. This may make it difficult for players to stock up on necessary items. However, promotional images of the game upon it’s release show characters keeping sheep in pens. This suggest that capturing animals can be done, but the concept as now as simple as it seems. Can animals despawn in LEGO Fortnite? Yes, animals do despawn. When tested the animals will despawn from an area after the player ventures away. The exact distance from the animal needed to make them despawn is currently unknown. Regardless of if the animals are captured or not, they will despawn if the player leaves them unattended. This makes any animal pens useless to the player, especially if they want to explore a cave or new biome. Since animals despawn, it forces players to venture out and collect the resources from animals roaming in the wild. However, each animal has a cooldown on when it will give the player items. LEGO Fortnite recently updated the durability of weapons and tools after community feedback. Something similar could happen to animals in the future, but nothing has been confirmed at this time. So there you have it – now you know that animals can despawn in LEGO Fortnite. Disgruntled Fortnite player eats Playstation gift card after Epic adds no-build zone – Dexerto
Disgruntled Fortnite player eats Playstation gift card after Epic adds no-build zone Epic GamesAfter Epic Games confirmed there would be an area where players can’t build or harvest materials on the Fortnite Season 10 map, one upset player was left with no choice but to wolf down a Playstation gift card. According to the Season 10 patch notes, Tilted Town replaces Neo Tilted and there’s no building or harvesting allowed in the area – which players are notified of when they enter. The wild west-themed town tells players “welcome to Tilted Town. No buildin’, no breakin’,” when they pass through the bubble surrounding it. A man of his word Apparently, Reddit user AuraxisKnight promised to eat a Playstation gift card if Epic ever added a no-build area to Fortnite and with the Season 10 patch his time had finally come. Not one to back out on a promise, Auraxis posted a video to Reddit documenting his snack for the Fortnite world to see. As he takes a bite of the card, you can almost hear his orthodontist crying out in pain and it probably doesn’t taste the greatest either. Read More: Epic Games hint at Fortnite BRUTE nerf – You do have to respect Auraxis for following through with his promise that he made for whatever reason, hopefully he spent the gift card before ingesting it though. What else is new in Fortnite Season 10? Besides the apparently controversial Tilted Town, the new Automatic Sniper Rifle weapon will be available to players after the Season 10 update. The weapon comes in Rare, Epic, and Legendary variants and it’s bullets travel faster than any other sniper – although that does come at the cost of a reduced-zoom scope, which should make hitting targets a little trickier. Eating Playstation gift cards is probably not very healthy, so we can’t recommend it as a form of protest if you’re upset with the no-building zone. For players who rely on their building to succeed, Tilted Town may be an area to avoid.

Disney & Fortnite publisher Epic Games announce new virtual world in $1.5bn deal – Dexerto
Disney & Fortnite publisher Epic Games announce new virtual world in $1.5bn deal Disney/Epic GamesDisney is investing $1.5 billion into Epic Games, as the two will craft an expansive games and entertainment universe connected to Fortnite. Epic Games continues to expand its foothold on the entertainment industry as a whole. Thanks to Fortnite, the company has partnered with dozens of entities in recent years, from celebrities such as Ariana Grande and Eminem to entertainment behemoths like Disney, LEGO, and Sony. Evidently, such collaborations only represent the beginning of something much bigger. And that something seems to have manifested in the gargantuan deal that Epic just signed with Walt Disney Co. The two are now working together on a brand-new universe, one that will somehow tie into the world of Fortnite. Epic Games inks massive deal with Walt Disney Co. Epic and Disney plan to deepen their relationship, specifically by collaborating on an “all-new games and entertainment universe that will further expand the reach of beloved Disney stories and experiences.” On top of this multiyear deal, the latter is investing $1.5 billion into the Fortnite creator. While next to nothing is known about the new virtual world, a Disney press release refers to it as a “world-class games experience” set to interoperate with Fortnite. The statement continues, explaining, “…the new persistent universe will offer a multitude of opportunities for consumers to play, watch, shop, and engage with content, characters, and stories from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Avatar,” etc. Better still, players can expect the new adventure to allow them to craft their own stories and experiences in a “distinctly Disney way.” And, apparently, sharing content will constitute an essential part of the fun. As one would expect, Epic’s very own Unreal Engine will power the persistent universe. When more concrete details might surface is currently anyone’s guess. However, reason suggests Disney and Epic Games‘ ambitious vision won’t be realized for at least a few years.

[UPDATED] Dinosaur Roaring Noises Can Be Heard at Salty Springs in Fortnite – Dexerto
[UPDATED] Dinosaur Roaring Noises Can Be Heard at Salty Springs in Fortnite UPDATE: So far, very few people have claimed to hear these Dinosaur sounds, adding to suspicion that it could be fake. Check out the clip below and decide for yourself. The Dinosaur_Park game file is likely unrelated. In yet another mysterious Fortnite event, players have started hearing what sounds very much like dinosaurs while traversing the map. On August 24, a massive purple cube appeared on the map, beamed down from the lighting bolts in sky, and fans are trying to piece together what it all means. Now, a day later, dinosaur noises can be heard when in the the Salty Springs area of the map. There is no physical dinosaur apparent, however it would tie in with the ‘Worlds Collide’ slogan for Season 5, which sees lots of different time zones come mix together. You can hear the dinosaur roar in the clip below, courtesy of @Luv29673112 The strange dinosaur noise is likely linked in some way to the mysterious purple cube, which some believe to be a form of portal through time. Data miners also leaked a game file from Fortnite recently, with the description “Dinosaur_Park”. Epic Games Announce Major News About Keyboard and Mouse Matchmaking in Fortnite on Console Whatever it is, the conclusion to season 5 and beginning of season 6 is shaping up to be a very eventful time in the popular battle royale game, and Epic Games always seem to have a few surprises up their sleeves.

Did the Big Bang break Fortnite? Servers buckle under player stampede – Dexerto
Did the Big Bang break Fortnite? Servers buckle under player stampede Epic GamesFortnite had to shut down its servers after an overwhelming amount of players logged in to watch the second showing of the Eminem Big Bang event. On December 2, Fortnite’s highly anticipated Big Bang event was set to begin at 2 pm EST. The event would cover all of the upcoming content, including announcements of a collaboration with LEGO and much more. The massive popularity of the Big Bang event caused queue times to skyrocket, with some players waiting for over an hour to join the fun. This prompted Fortnite to release two additional showtimes for the event featuring a concert from Eminem. The events would take place roughly three hours apart to give time for the event to be reset. What Fortnite did not anticipate was that the second event would be even more popular than the first – forcing Epic Games to shut down all Fortnite servers in an effort to recover. Fortnite servers crash due to Big Bang event popularity Fortnite’s official status update account on Twitter/X notified players that they would be shutting down the servers for an unknown amount of time. This decision came after players began experiencing connection issues to the game in anticipation of attending the next event. “We’re still working to recover from the overwhelming attendance from the first event showtime,” said Fortnite. “We’re taking Fortnite offline temporarily while we work to set up encore shows in a few hours. More info on our next showtimes coming soon.” Multiple users reported that the queue time before the servers were shut down was even longer than the initial ones from earlier in the day. One user showed an image of their queue time, which was close to two hours. Fortnite is experiencing ongoing server issues and is currently unable to accept players. For the latest updates on server status, check out our official guide.

Did The Rock just tease he’s getting a Fortnite skin? – Dexerto
Did The Rock just tease he’s getting a Fortnite skin? Epic Games/Instagram, @TheRockAfter an appearance by a very cartoony-looking float during the Macy’s Thanksgivings Day Parade, The Rock hinted that he may end up getting a skin in the popular battle royale game Fortnite, although he’s being a bit vague. The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade floats are known their pop culture references. Between Pikachu, Goku, and others making appearances, it shouldn’t really come as a surprise that one based on the popular young Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson meme a few years back would make its way into the 2020 version of the parade. Seemingly because it’s a float, the giant balloon itself seems to be a cartoon representation of the meme, rather than a hyper-realistic one. After one person seemed to point out that it looks a bit like a Fortnite skin, the former wrestler now actor responded in a way that’s raising a few eyebrows. Why does @TheRock float look like a #Fortnite skin of The Rock? pic.twitter.com/EJGfqI2Umz — BD (@BrandonDavisBD) November 26, 2020 In response to the comment about his float looking like a Fortnite character, The Rock simply responded with “way ahead of you” and “great minds”. This obviously caused a few people to pause and ask themselves if he just hinted at a Fortnite skin. Unfortunately, we don’t have any official comment from Epic but the comment is certainly suspicious. While one could make the argument that The Rock was saying that he also had the same thought before the original tweeter, the wink face emoji seen after the tweet is a bit peculiar. Surely he would know not to put that kind of statement out with that emoji unless he meant to hint at it, right? It’s also a bit odd that he also responded to someone who tweeted that they “shouldn’t give them any ideas”, meaning he could have been totally knowledgable in what he’s doing. His inclusion in the game also wouldn’t be surprising. Fortnite is known for its crossovers at this point, even allowing for some Icon Series skins based on celebrities like Ninja and others. It could also be a part of a larger WWE crossover, considering there’s a plethora of characters there to make skins out of. Still, until nothing official is announced, take this with a massive grain of salt. Here’s hoping that if it is real that it will get announced soon, however.

Did Fortnite secretly change Pump Shotguns in Season 2? – Dexerto
Did Fortnite secretly change Pump Shotguns in Season 2? Epic GamesFortnite’s Pump Shotguns have long been a point of contention for players, but it appears they may have been secretly changed for the launch of Chapter 2, Season 2, but Epic Games haven’t explained yet. Pump Shotguns are notoriously fickle weapons to carry. You have the ability to one-pump someone, while also being completely let down by it in the next breath with an unexpectedly weak shot. This is part and parcel of the Fortnite experience and something many players have come to terms with – but it seems the Pump may have been secretly changed for Season 2, and has left some scratching their heads. There’s a couple of things that players believe have changed in Season 2, mostly pertaining to damage, but what are they? Without patch notes, it is hard to tell for certain, yet, there are a couple of theories floating around. Pellet Damage One change that has occurred, that is quite hard to hide, is the amount of damage being done by individual pellets of the Pump Shotgun, as pointed out on Reddit by HirsiHD. While these are supposed to only deal damage in increments of 10, players have noticed a variation in this, hitting, for example, for 98 damage as opposed to 100. Headshot Damage Another difference players have noticed in is headshot damage or, more specifically, hitbox issues when hitting a headshot. As evidenced in the video below, from March 2, hitting someone in the chin, square in the head, or even slightly above the head all deal different amounts of damage – despite the fact that you would expect them all to be classified as a headshot. As such, you would think the damage would be the same for all shots, but this shows clear inconsistencies, with a chin shot essentially being akin to a body shot. (Timestamp 2:05 for mobile viewers) Without Epic’s patch notes, we’re not sure what changes have been made exactly, or why, but if players keep bringing up issues with the Pump Shotgun they may be forced to comment on the issue or explain what changes have been made. So far, we’re unsure whether any other changes were secretly made to the Pump in Season 2, but the examples above are definitely enough to raise some eyebrows.

Did Epic Games take inspiration from a fan concept for Chiller Grenade? – Dexerto
Did Epic Games take inspiration from a fan concept for Chiller Grenade? After Epic Games announced that the Fortnite community will soon be able to get their hands on a brand new Chiller Grenade, one player couldn’t help but think they’ve seen it all before. The new item, which was posted to the in-game news feed on January 28, has been teased by the developer ahead of Fortnite’s next weekly update. However, one fan can’t help but think that its design has been inspired by a concept they posted on Reddit over 70 days ago. Reddit user, Weinstein312, posted their own spin on the original grenade item back on November 15 of last year, with the tagline: “Vault the Chillers, and bring us a throwable version of it – Snow Bombs.” They proposed that the grenades would be found in stacks of three and would turn players into ice for six seconds, after being hit by them. Check out both the official and the concept designs for the icy item below. Now, while Weinstein’s initial design wasn’t exactly the finished article, you can see the similarities between the Chiller Grenade and itself quite clearly. As the Chiller Grenade is still yet to be released, Fortnite fans can only make assumptions from the brief description on the game’s new feed, which does suggest it will be very similar to the concept indeed. “Give your enemies cold feet with this winter blast,” it says. There is no guarantee that the new item was inspired by the Reddit concept, as many players have been wanting an ice-style bomb to be added to the game for quite some time.

Did Fortnite remove Party Royale? – Dexerto
Did Fortnite remove Party Royale? Epic GamesParty Royale is a fan-favorite game mode in Fortnite that provides a fun hub to play mini-games and relax, but some players are wondering: Did Fortnite remove Party Royale? People keep asking the question, is Fortnite dying? A quick look at its player count and constantly full lobbies even in Chapter 3 Season 2 would suggest that is it far from it. In fact, the recent addition of a no-build variation has caused a resurgence in the game. Fortnite now has tons of game modes to change things up, such as Party Royale. First introduced in 2020, Party Royale has offered players a healthy alternative to the competitive nature of conventional battle royale and similar modes. It has remained constantly popular since its inception, but is Epic Games’ fun side mode still available to play? Contents Is Party Royale still in Fortnite? As of April 20, 2022, Party Royale is not currently playable in Fortnite. As confirmed by iFireMonkey and many other Fortnite news sources: “Party Royale has been disabled.” Party Royale has been disabled Spotted by @Luwwani pic.twitter.com/TKugQe4mDO — iFireMonkey (@iFireMonkey) April 19, 2022 There has been no official statement from Epic Games as to why this is the case, but for the time being, players will be unable to take part in the game mode. Given the mode’s immense popularity, we don’t expect this removal to last too long and it might be purely down to some needed maintenance. What is Fortnite’s Party Royale mode? Unlike Fortnite’s battle royale mode which wants you to take out players until you are the last person standing, Party Royale is a pacifist paradise designed to encourage players to bond with each other. The setup is designed for players to interact and watch in-game music concerts together, literally paint the town red Splatoon style, and basically enjoy the game’s mechanics without any fear of elimination. Did Epic Games hint at a Flare Gun coming to Fortnite? – Dexerto
Did Epic Games hint at a Flare Gun coming to Fortnite? Epic GamesFortnite Battle Royale personalities with celebrity counterparts. As a celebration of the hugely popular battle royale title, Epic Games dropped a number of different cinematics that were based around different skins and in-game memes. However, one centered around a Flare Gun caught the attention of fans as it was the only one to really hint at some potential new content. The short clip showed the Jonesy character stranded on a deserted island, searching for some form of rescue. He seems to be in luck when the battle bus starts cruising above him and he immediately scrambles for a wooden box marked ‘Flare Gun’. However, things take a turn for the worse when he denies his own rescue attempt by accidentally shooting down the battle bus with the teased item – leaving the character back at square one on his lonesome. Yet, in a funny twist, it’s not all bad news for Jonesy as the game gives him a Victory Royale for taking out the entire battle bus. Will a Flare Gun be released in Fortnite? Despite the interesting clip, nobody is certain if Epic Games truly was teasing the opportunity of having the Flare Gun as a weapon in Fortnite, or if it was just another of their cinematic videos to break up the Pro-Am coverage. However, if they did hint at a new weapon, it certainly wouldn’t be the first time that a Flare Gun was introduced to a Battle Royale. Back in December of 2018, a similar item was released for PUBG – allowing players to call in a one-time supply drop of either a weapon or vehicle. Yet, it would do no damage when fired at another player. It remains to be seen if Epic is going to release the weapon for their own game, and if it would operate in the same sort of manner as PUBG’s. Only time will tell.

Did Epic Games leak in-game Fortnite tournament mode during this promo video? – Dexerto
Did Epic Games leak in-game Fortnite tournament mode during this promo video? An eagle-eyed fan may have spotted an indication that integrated tournaments may be coming to Fortnite Battle Royale soon. Recently, the official Fortnite YouTube account uploaded a video explaining their new Support-A-Creator event that had just become available, with Fortnite Community Manager Melissa Dingmon walking content creators through the latest tool. However, as she showed off the new tools for creators, one observant fan spotted another new tab at the top of the game’s menu screen titled ‘Tournaments’. Epic Games have yet to make an official announcement regarding built-in tournaments appearing in Fortnite Battle Royale, but the appearance of this tab in the video suggests we will be seeing them added to the game sooner rather than later. This is the first time we have actually seen the tournament tab appear inside the game, and fans are already discussing what this could mean for the popular battle royale title. Fortnite fans are hopeful that we will see the tournament tab officially added to the game in the next update, as the addition wasn’t included in the latest patch for the battle royale that went live on Wednesday, October 10. Fortnite Update V6.02 finally introduced a new explosive weapon called the Quad Launcher which has been rumoured to make an appearance in the game for months, along with a new Limited Time Mode named Disco Domination.

Where to destroy Jack-o-Lanterns with a ranged weapon in Fortnite – Dexerto
Where to destroy Jack-o-Lanterns with a ranged weapon in Fortnite Epic GamesOne of the latest Fortnitemares Quests requires you to destroy Jack-o-Lanterns with a ranged weapon, but where can you find them? And what’s a ranged weapon? We’ve got answers. Fortnitemares 2022 is in full swing, with two new challenges going live each day. The latest pairing asks players to destroy Jack-o-Lanterns, but they’re not marked on the map so finding them is a little difficult. Below, you’ll find the best Jack-o-Lantern locations on the Fortnite map as well as tips on how to destroy them with a ranged weapon. Jack-o-Lantern locations in Fortnite Some of the best locations to find Jack-o-Lanterns in Fortnite are Greasy Grove, The Joneses, and Tilted Towers. This is because they’ll pretty much always appear outside of houses or shops. Once you’ve landed at one of these locations, run around and keep an eye out for pumpkins in front of buildings. There aren’t as many as we’d hoped, but if you keep looking you’ll find them eventually. Remember that other players will also be looking to destroy Jack-o-Lanterns for their own quests, so it’s a good idea to do this at the beginning of a match. How to destroy Jack-o-Lanterns in Fortnite Once you’ve found a Jack-o-Lantern you simply need to shoot it with your ranged weapon. Do this five times and you should have completed the quest, earning 15,000 XP and a free Spray as a reward. It’s worth mentioning that when we tried to destroy Jack-o-Lanterns, it wasn’t counting toward the quest progress. This could be a bug or the game might just not be registering them for some reason. What is a ranged weapon in Fortnite? You might assume that a ranged weapon needs to be something with a scope like a Sniper Rifle, but Fortnite actually classes any gun as a ranged weapon. This means you should be able to use anything from a Hammer Assault Rifle to a Cobra DMR or even a Sidearm Pistol to destroy Jack-o-Lanterns, which makes completing this quest a lot simpler. That’s everything you need to know about destroying Jack-o-Lanterns! Decoded Durrr Burger Phone Message Points to a Location in France and Reveals More Clues About Season 5 in Fortnite – Dexerto
Decoded Durrr Burger Phone Message Points to a Location in France and Reveals More Clues About Season 5 in Fortnite As the end of Season 4 in Fortnite draws closer and closer, more clues about what lays in store for Season 5 continue to pop up, both in the virtual and real world. The latest instance involves the mysterious phone number that was being passed around by an unidentified “agent” around the Durrr Burger that had appeared in a California desert. Previously, when called, the phone number revealed a binary code which users figured out pointed to the Greasy Grove location on the Fornite map. However, there has been a new development involving that number. On July 9th, a Twitter page called ‘Fortnite Leakage’ tweeted out that dialing a “06” extension reveals additional high quality audio. #fortnite New high quality audio with embedded coordinates!! Dial 06 to hear for yourself. 48.8559485, 2.3611878 is the secret message. Google maps: https://t.co/zfBb1O3c7o pic.twitter.com/OdgVo6p2vs — Fortnite Leakage (@FNLeak) July 9, 2018 When observed through a spectrogram, the audio actually translates to a high resolution image that contains two long numbers. Many believe that these numbers are in fact coordinates, a theory that is substantiated by the fact that when typed into Google Maps, a real world location in France pops up. The sign on the building reads, “Centre de rechereches historiques et juridiques,” which translates to “Historical and Legal Research Center.” Although nothing has been reported about this location that reveals more information, the fact that the word “historical” has popped up cannot be a coincidence, considering the overwhelming belief among majority of Fortnite players that Season 5 will have one or more themes from past, and historical, eras.

Despicable Me x Fortnite concept goes viral following movie trailer release – Dexerto
Despicable Me x Fortnite concept goes viral following movie trailer release IlluminationFortnite fans have been left divided over one player’s Despicable Me concept which has gone viral following the release of the upcoming movie’s first official trailer. Fortnite has built up a passionate community of fans over the years, who often have created and shared their own inventive concepts. These have showcased anything relating to the game and its many features. Whether that be one player recreating a whole new Victory Royale animation sequence idea or another creating various skin and cosmetic concepts from pop culture. One player has revealed their very own Despicable Me collab following the release of the first official trailer for the upcoming movie, Despicable Me 4. Fortnite player goes viral with Despicable Me 4 collab concept Fortnite player CurlyOtaku_ revealed their Despicable Me concept to the game’s subreddit: “Imagine waking up to this collab…” Their movie-inspired concept featured various skins and cosmetic bundles of various fan favorites from the franchise. It included the main protagonist Gru and his fellow Minions, as well as the Despicable Me soundtrack and “Grumobile” vehicle skin. Various players praised the idea: “I have 2200 V-Bucks and I a want superhero skin, but when this is in the Item Shop, my V-Bucks are gonna be zero.” One player simply responded: “This must happen!” However, some slammed the idea of the Minions joining the Battle Royale and said they were “not interested,” with one even claiming they’d “actually delete Fortnite.” With Despicable Me 4 scheduled for a July 12, 2024, release, many suspected that Gru and the Minions could arrive in the game “maybe with the new upcoming movie?” At the time of writing, Epic Games hasn’t announced anything, and leakers in the community have not found anything that points toward a potential collab.

Deadpool Fortnite event revealed: Yacht POI, leaked items and more Epic Games / MarvelAfter weeks of hints and clues, we finally have official confirmation that Deadpool is taking over Fortnite, with his special in-game event set to kick off on Friday, April 3. Fortnite Chapter 2 kicked off back in February, and one of the most surprising appearances, when it launched, was Deadpool, Marvel’s foul-mouthed superhero who became a fan favorite amongst comic book fans and movie-goers alike. The masked vigilante even has his own secret room in the game’s main screen, taking over a dirty bathroom to turn it into his hideout, but while he’s referenced in the game, rarely appeared in actual matches. Finally, that’s all about to change, with a tweet on the official Deadpool account confirming that he’s set to take control of the game in a way only he could, turning The Yacht into his own Point-of-Interest covered in his logos. The image uploaded to Twitter shows an image of The Yacht which Deadpool has clearly drawn over, with his logo and a sign that reads “TACOS” sitting on the roof, a kite flying from the bridge, and a pair of red underwear acting as a flag at the front of the ship. The tweet doesn’t show exactly what the ship will look like by the team the anti-hero gets his hands on it, but we do know some of the surprises he plans to bring thanks to leaks which revealed some new items he was adding to the boat. Starting tomorrow, I’M crashing this party. There’ll be music, tacos, and a whole lotta Deadpool. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this. pic.twitter.com/ubrsOFalvf — Deadpool (@Deadpool) April 2, 2020 We also know that Deadpool will be taking over more than just The Yacht thanks to leaks, as he’ll also be involved in the dropping of Supply Crates, which are set to receive a major redesign with the balloon becoming an inflatable version of the hero holding a taco, and the crate itself receiving a red and black paint job. Deadpool drops design, and there’s also a battlebus! pic.twitter.com/OYxzFx31Mo — HYPEX – Fortnite Leaks & News (@HYPEX) March 31, 2020 The Battle Pus will also be getting a makeover, meaning there will be no escaping from Deadpool if you decide to jump into the game and hunt for Victory Royales. This is what the Deadpool Battle Bus is going to look like! pic.twitter.com/epkoPSAN0n — Trimix | Fortnite Leaks & News (@official_trimix) March 31, 2020 For those who purchased the Fortnite Season 2 Battle Pass, they can also unlock a special Deadpool skin by completing the superheroes challenges, with the set released with the Week 7 Skye’s Adventure tasks making the skin available. There’s currently no confirmed time for Deadpool to take over the ship, but knowing the character, it’s sure to be when we least expect it, and unlike anything we’ve ever seen in the game before.

Deadpool & Wolverine press tour has Fortnite fans hopeful for iconic skin’s return – Dexerto
Deadpool & Wolverine press tour has Fortnite fans hopeful for iconic skin’s return FortniteFortnite players have started speculating about the future of Deadpool skins after German content creator Trymacs was seen with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. The first Fortnite collaboration with Deadpool was in February of 2020 when Epic released a skin alongside a set of challenges during the Chapter 2 Season 2 Battle Pass. Since it was exclusive to the Chapter 2 Season 2 Battle Pass with its various unlockable variants, many players missed their chance to obtain the Deadpool skin. However, with the stars of Deadpool & Wolverine now making an appearance with Fortnite creators, fans are hoping that this beloved skin could become available once more. “As some who didn’t get those skins when first released, the recent Wolverine isn’t what I was hoping for. This is great news if it happens,” explained one commenter. Players, even those who already own it, have reacted positively to the Deadpool skin’s potential return. “As a Deadpool and Wolverine skin owner, this makes me happy cause I want all my Fortnite friends to be able to get these cool guys,” said one commenter. Deadpool isn’t the only skin that Fortnite players hope to see return with the movie’s release, either. Fortnite currently has two Wolverine skins, which are locked behind the Chapter 2 Season 4 Battle Pass and Fortnite Crew pack from August 2022. Fortnite has released multiple Event Passes within the last year, including Avatar the Last Airbender, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Wars, and Pirates of the Caribbean. This could mean that a potential event pass for Deadpool & Wolverine is on the horizon, though there haven’t been any announcements or leaks to support that theory. There’s also the possibility that this could be a tease for brand new Deadpool and Wolverine skins, as other players in the Reddit thread suggested. “I wanna hope if the Deadpool skin has a face, it’s that gag from the first movie where he has a cut out of Hugh Jackman’s face stapled on, but it’s Ryan Reynolds. Or actually, just keep it Hugh Jackman,” said another.

Date and time confirmed for highly anticipated ‘Unvaulting’ event in Fortnite Battle Royale – Dexerto
Date and time confirmed for highly anticipated ‘Unvaulting’ event in Fortnite Battle Royale Loot Lake BR – TwitterWith the Fortnite Battle Royale community waiting in anticipation for the ‘Unvaulting’ event to kick off, its actual date and time has now been confirmed by Epic Games. A lot has been happening at Fortnite’s Loot Lake point of interest as we approach the latter stages of Season 8 and the game’s developer has now confirmed that May 4 will be the event’s start date in a Twitter post, at that it will be starting at 3PM (EST). While changes have been a constant in what was first dubbed a ‘rune’ event by fans, there’s been very little in terms of official announcements about what’s been going on at the location. First of all, there were runes appearing across the map and landing at a newly dug out vault where the lake once was, but now a huge timer has appeared there, leaving fans questioning just what’s going to happen next. Beneath the gateway, light breaks through. https://t.co/UuvLpkyVea — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) May 3, 2019 Unvaulting event speculation Although it hasn’t officially been confirmed by Epic Games, speculation suggests that an event set to take place in Fortnite BR that will give players the chance to vote for an item or weapon to be returned from the vault. Considering that there are still so many popular items stowed away in the vault, this event has stirred up a lot of excitement among the player-base. With so much information about this event already having been leaked, data-miners have now found and released the actual date and time that Unvaulting will take place. According to prominent data-miner @ShiinaBR, the event will take place on Saturday, May 4, kicking off at exactly 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM BST. However, judging by the fact that most major previous in-game events have taken place on Saturday afternoons in the US, the leaked date and time seem to make sense. How will Unvaulting work? According to leaks and speculation, once Unvaulting kicks off, player will be able to go into the currently sealed bunker in Loot Lake and vote for a certain weapon or item they want to be brought back from the vault. That being said, there are still major questions about the whole process, such as how the voting will be done, how long players will have to vote, and at what point will the winning weapon or item be added back into the game. Which items/weapons will players be able to vote for? In the weeks leading up to the event, data-miners dug up game files which suggested that there would be six items and weapons that players can vote to bring back from the vault. X-4 Stormwing plane – Grappler – Bouncer – Tactical SMG – Drum Gun – Infinity Blade sword – The bunker in Loot Lake seems to have confirmed these leaks, as all six monitors located inside feature one of the six item. While no one will know exactly which item or weapon will be brought back from the vault, the general consensus on social media is that either the Drum Gun or Bouncers will win, and that neither the X-4 Stormwing or Infinity Blade are likely to come close. That being said, we will all just have to wait and see. Until then, make sure to be playing at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET on May 4 so that you can get your vote in. Data miners reveal more details about Fortnite’s Leaky Lake event and the mysterious portal – Dexerto
Data miners reveal more details about Fortnite’s Leaky Lake event and the mysterious portal New assets for Fortnite Battle Royale suggest that the portal at Leaky Lake will go through six stages of growth before the next significant event takes place. The assets were found by dataminers in the aftermath of the last major event related to the cube, which took place on Saturday, October 20. Inside Fortnite’s assets folder, there are six files titled “BPGrowth_House_Glow”, followed by numbered stages all the way up to Stage Six. The file names featuring the term “House” in their title indicates that this event may be related to the dwelling found on top of Cube Island, with fans noticing that some strange purple cubes had begun to creep up the side of house. Since then, a massive beam of light has been shooting out of the cube into the sky. At the top of the beam of light is what appears to be a portal, however players who have managed to make it up to the portal have so far been unable to enter it, or figure out what it will do. We may see the portal grow over the next few days, thanks to these assets. The saga regarding the mysterious cube, affectionately nicknamed Kevin by the Fortnite community, has been raging on for some time, with the in-game event taking place over multiple seasons of the popular battle royale title. Fans are excited to find out what will happen when this event finally reaches its conclusion, with hope that there may be a real-time in-game event, similar to the rocket launch that took place during Season 4.

This is not an official leak through data mining. The popular Fortnite Battle Royale leaking account @TwoEpicBuddies has released a 3D image of some major changes that are supposedly coming to the map soon. Data miner predicts new Fortnite Legends Pack for v9.20 update – Dexerto
Data miner predicts new Fortnite Legends Pack for v9.20 update Fortnite Battle Royale players have been given the chance to buy a whole host of new cosmetics during Season 9, and those waiting patiently for a new legends pack might not have much longer to go. Epic Games are expected to add a load of new information to the game’s files with the v9.20 patch, and one of the most reliable data miners appears to be expecting it to contain some exciting new cosmetics. The developer has already replaced the Laguna starter pack during the season, with the Wilde starter pack leaked on May 23 and later made available in the store. Next, @HYPEX is looking forward to seeing a brand new legends pack next time around. The leaker has already revealed a number of new skins, Back Blings, gilders, and other accessories in the past after searching through the files of new updates. According to HYPEX, the data miner found legends packs in both the previous v7.20 and v8.20 updates, which could indicate that there’s a good chance that fans will get to see a brand new ‘NEO’ legends pack leaked after the patch details are added. The previous Lava Legends pack included both the Molten Battle Hound and Molten Valkyrie skins, as well as cape and wing Back Blings. Of course, a glider too. Whether or not a brand new NEO-inspired set would include similar customizable features remains to be seen, but there’s a very good chance that it will. After all, the contents of the cosmetic packs are pretty much the same each time. If Epic do have a brand-new legends pack in the works for their next major patch, this data miner and others are typically fast to get it out for people to see. So, we’ll keep you updated.

Daring Fortnite player pulls off trickshot with rare Mythic Goldfish – Dexerto
Daring Fortnite player pulls off trickshot with rare Mythic Goldfish Epic GamesThe Mythic Goldfish is Fortnite’s rarest item, but that hasn’t stopped players from trying to make their eliminations with the weapon look stylish as one daring player pulled off a one-in-a-million trickshot with it. Catching a Mythic Goldfish in Fortnite is akin to winning the lottery. Introduced in Chapter 2 with the fishing update, it’s the rarest item ever added to Fortnite, and it packs a punch to go along with it. It dishes out 200 damage to an enemy player, knocking them out regardless of health or shields. Such power comes at a price tag — it’s drop rate is around 0.000136%, or a 1 in 735,294 chance. Getting your hands on it in the first place is enough to shake up the most composed player, but this one Fortnite player kept his cool for so long that he even attempted a trickshot with the rare item to complete the even rarer Trophy Hunter achievement. Reddit user ‘Manuel_Eder’ shared the clip to the /r/FortNiteBR community on January 19, attempting what they called the “first Mythic Goldfish trickshot.” Caught up in a buildfight with another player on the edge of the zone, both Manuel and his enemy were dancing around each other. However, the crafty goldfish wielder found himself an opportunity to get some high ground and fire down on his foe as they looked to escape. Building ramps and boxes upwards, Manuel jumped from the top rope to try and take down the enemy. Of course, if they were to kill someone with the goldfish, they had to do it in style. Manuel jumped down from his build, chucked in a cheeky 360, and ended up hitting the enemy at the top of the ramp to secure the kill and unlock the Trophy Hunter achievement. The Trophy Hunter achievement is one of three achievements tagged along with the Mythic Goldfish. You get it simply by eliminating a player with the rare item, and given how scarce the fish are, it’s a worthy accolade to have on any profile. Manuel’s enemy didn’t walk away empty handed after the embarrassing death to the Mythic Goldfish. Players taken out by the item are given the Sleep with the Fishes achievement after being eliminated, so it’s not all bad news. While it’s not the most crafty trickshot in the book, it’s one of the highest stakes shots in Fortnite history, and Manuel managed to pull it off in style.

Data Mined Files Suggest the Fortnite Battle Bus Could Soon be Customizable – Dexerto
Data Mined Files Suggest the Fortnite Battle Bus Could Soon be Customizable The look of the Battle Bus could change during each Fortnite game if a leak on the back of September 6’s update is to be believed. The iconic blue bus school bus has floated into battle on millions of occasions, but that familiar look could soon be replaced with something much more jazzy. Epic Games released a major update on Thursday, September 6, which included everything from weapon changes through to a brand new event, named High Stakes. Part of every update involves a bunch of keen Fortnite fans rummaging through the files of the patch, and attempting to work out new information set to be released. Popular website StormShieldOne have released their findings, and they have announced that Epic Games is set to include Battle Bus customization. “While digging through Fortnite Update 5.40 our automatically generated patch page detected a new “Random Battle Bus” feature that’s tagged for Fortnite Battle Royale. This sounds similar to the random skin feature that the game already supports. This prompted us to do a little more digging and we found references to a “Purple Bus” in the files. This is only the third ever bus added to the game behind the default skin and the special birthday skin.” Fans of the battle royale genre will know that specific skins for the vehicle loading into the game isn’t new, with PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds already boasting custom skins for their transport plane.

Dangerous Fortnite Season 5 jetpack exploit lets you float forever – Dexerto
Dangerous Fortnite Season 5 jetpack exploit lets you float forever Epic GamesThere’s a risky new exploit in Fortnite Season 5 that allows you to float above your competition forever using jetpacks in the Floor is Lava LTM. Game-breaking exploits are nothing new to Fortnite though players just uncovered a more ridiculous bug in Season 5. It doesn’t grant invincibility and it won’t outright win you a game, but it could throw your enemies for a loop. Jetpacks are back in the game for Season 5 though they can’t be used freely, only in the Floor is Lava LTM. Holding down the boost button will eventually cause them to overheat. Meaning you’ll only be able to reach a certain height through short bursts. Thanks to a new exploit, however, that’s no longer the case. Players are able to soar through the sky without worry. The exploit comes as a result of hitting the lava that engulfed the map in earlier seasons, but is now only available in the LTM. Activating your jetpack right at the final moment as you collide with the lava, will see your character flying upwards. Without explanation, your jetpack will break and you’ll be stuck in an endless ascension. No matter what you do from here, you’ll be stuck floating. You can shoot down on enemies below, but you won’t be able to navigate back down to the ground. The trick takes some precise timing to get right. So there’s an element of risk involved. If you miss by even a few frames, you could be taking major damage and potentially end your run early. Though the benefits of this exploit could outweigh the risk in certain situations. Down to the final few players? Jump towards the lava and rise up for easy pickings. No one would ever expect a player to be randomly floating without hearing a jetpack sound overhead. While it won’t take you to the absolute highest point possible, it will let you float at max jetpack height,” Reddit user ‘monty775’ confirmed. They remained at this point until the storm “completely closed.” This means you really can use this exploit to stay above your competition for a full game of the Floor is Lava. Just be cautious of nearby foes trying to build up to knock you down.

Dakotaz explains why he blocked Ninja as Fortnite feud intensifies – Dexerto
Dakotaz explains why he blocked Ninja as Fortnite feud intensifies Twitch streamer Brett ‘Dakotaz‘ Hoffman has slammed Mixer star Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins, over comments he made regarding creators criticism of Fortnite. Ninja and Dakotaz have been taking shots at each other, disagreeing over whether content creators should be able to criticize the game they are playing. Ninja has clashed with other Fortnite personalities in the past over this matter, including Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney, saying that if they no longer like the game, they should simply stop playing it. On December 20, Blevins released a video to Twitter, in which he lashed out at streamers for criticizing Fortnite, encouraging them instead to go and play other games. Dakotaz has hit back in dramatic fashion on December 24. Please watch — Ninja (@Ninja) December 21, 2019 In a clip from his Christmas Eve stream, Dakotaz confirmed he had blocked the Mixer star: “It must be tough to get blocked, being Ninja,” he said. “I wonder what that feels like. Not everyone’s gonna kiss your ass in life, buddy.” “Now you don’t have to read my tweets,” he continued. “You don’t have to complain about me anymore. Next time you make a video about me, [tag] me, p*ssy. Until then, take a seat.” The 31-year-old is referencing Blevins criticism of streamers who are perceived to hate on the games they play. Some side with Ninja, while others argue that playing a game does not stop an individual from being able to criticize the game in question. Dakotaz has since followed up his on-stream comments with a number of critical tweets, in which he says that he blocked Blevins because he doesn’t “need a snowflake sending his 12-year-old army on me”. https://twitter.com/dakotaz/status/1209507664654295040?s=20 However, he does point out that Ninja has done big things for streamers and the streaming community, but that he’s “done” with the Mixer star. https://twitter.com/dakotaz/status/1209505981396328449?s=20 As of the publication of this article, Ninja has not responded to the comments made by Dakotaz, and has not elaborated further on his earlier criticisms. With the two’s beef showing no signs of slowing down, we will continue to update you on this story as more information becomes available.

Dakotaz shocked as he gets blatant Fortnite hacker instantly banned – Dexerto
Dakotaz shocked as he gets blatant Fortnite hacker instantly banned Epic Games/DakotazPopular Fortnite streamer Brett ‘Dakotaz‘ Hoffman was left stunned after watching a player he had reported for hacking receive an in-game ban mere seconds later. While it may be the most popular battle royale title around, Fortnite hasn’t always been completely perfect or free from issues – we’ve seen plenty of glitches and bugs that have turned players away. And, with that popularity, comes players who want to hack and ruin the experience for others. It’s a hard battle to fight, even if you are consistent with updates and have your own game launchers, but it certainly helps when some of the popular streamers provide evidence during their broadcasts. During his October 3 stream, the popular Fortnite player had been partaking in some duo matches when he was eliminated by a pretty suspicious player who started hitting other players with insane accuracy. Instead of heading out to the lobby and resetting himself, the streamer stuck around to watch them in action alongside his duo partner for the game. “I got a bad feeling about this guy, we’re going to watch this guy,” Dakotaz told his stream. As the stream continued, the player in question racked up a further 16 kills – including some questionable, jumping eliminations with the minigun around the Loot Lake and Salty Springs areas. Instead of letting it slide, Dakotaz brought up the in-game report function and decided to see if Epic Games would do something about it. Within seconds of him dropping a “Hacking 100%” report, the suspicious player was struck by the banhammer – leaving the streamer, his duo partner, and Twitch viewers stunned. “Woah! What the hell,” the streamer called out. “Yo, I just reported him and he got banned. What the hell? I legit just reported him and I have like powers or something bro – I literally just banned him dude.” While it isn’t quite the lengths that fellow streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has gone to in calling Epic during his stream, it appears as if the developers aren’t against watching the action live and banning people pretty instantly. It should probably serve as a warning to anyone who has ever thought about cheating – someone is always watching.

Dakotaz explains the “god awful” part of Fortnite Chapter 2 – Dexerto
Dakotaz explains the “god awful” part of Fortnite Chapter 2 Popular Fortnite fans were finally handed the keys to Chapter 2 on October 15, as Epic Games unveiled their brand new map, leveling system, and changed loot pool. As with any new season, players have also been able to get their hands on a raft of new cosmetics thanks to the battle pass and the overall feeling has been a positive one – for now, anyway. Yet, Dakotaz has revealed which part of the battle royale he feels is letting it down and will need changing moving forward. During his October 18 stream, the popular Fortnite broadcaster had been waiting to drop into a match when he started talking to his viewers about the new season. “Alright guys, listen, I love this season, but the frames are god awful at the game,” he said. “And, they’re pretty bad throughout the game – I’m just saying that man. It’s just like, what is happening bro. I love this season to death but the frames are so bad. They have to fix it.” Clip for mobile viewers. Of course, the streamer isn’t the first player to pick up the FPS issues, as quite a few members of the Fortnite fanbase have been looking for fixes. Some tips and tricks have been uncovered as temporary workarounds, but they aren’t concrete for everybody and there is some testing that needs to be done to find out what works for each player. Thankfully, though, Epic Games has begun investigating the frames issues on their public Trello board, so at least progress is being made in terms of getting a permanent fix. When that will be, however, is a completely different story as these things can take some time to replicate. Hopefully, it won’t be too far away and the positive atmosphere around Chapter 2 will continue.

Dakotaz apparently needs to be paid up front for Fortnite squad revives – Dexerto
Dakotaz apparently needs to be paid up front for Fortnite squad revives Epic GamesBrett ‘Fortnite and decided to charge him for a revive, causing his partner to leave the match altogether. Sometimes your best moments in Fortnite come when you mess around with a random player. While it was fun for Dakotaz, we can’t say the same thing about his partner. When his random duo partner was eliminated, Dakotaz was moving to pick up his Reboot Card, but instead made some demands before he did so. “20 bucks,” he said. “20 bucks and I’ll get your reboot. I’m teaching you a hard lesson right now, 20 bucks is the price. You got PayPal?” It was after this that his teammate was fed up and decided to leave the game entirely before Dakotaz was able to apologize. “He left!” he exclaimed. “Oh my God, bro! Noooo! Oh my God! It’s seven years of bad luck, bro! Oh my God, noooooo!” His teammate probably didn’t want to shell out 20 dollars just for a revive so instead of getting his PayPal set up, he left the game instead. It just goes to show you that not everyone has the time to sit around to be trolled when they could already be in another lobby playing again. With that said, DK did feel bad about making the young player leave as it’s possible they didn’t realize it was all an elaborate joke. Making somebody disconnect is a good feeling in many games but not in a team-based game, especially when it’s your own teammate leaving because of you. There’s no telling who’s on the other end of your jokes and how they’ll take them, so this could potentially be a cautionary tale about how to talk to your random teammates in the future.

Dakotaz can’t believe Ninja was “triggered” by his Fortnite opinion – Dexerto
Dakotaz can’t believe Ninja was “triggered” by his Fortnite opinion Twitch streamer Brett ‘Dakotaz’ Hoffman has criticized members of the Fortnite community who have taken issue with his comments about the game, particularly fellow streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Belvins. Christmas Eve saw the Fortnite community transfixed with a high-profile argument between Dakotaz and Ninja, as the two clashed over the former’s criticism of Fortnite. Dakotaz has been both an outspoken fan and critic of the game and its developers, despite continuing to play it on Twitch. In response, Ninja suggested that streamers who constantly criticize the games they play are detrimental to their success. He also said that the streamers should simply play other games, instead of sticking with a game they find frustrating. Ninja had previously replied to a Dakotaz tweet critical of Fortnite, and the Twitch streamer took issue with Blevins and hit back furiously, blocking him on Twitter and telling him: “Not everyone’s gonna kiss your ass.” Read More: How to unlock free Snowy Pickaxe in Fortnite – On December 26, Dakotaz was reading a donation message, in which the viewer says that their 9-year-old “won’t quit the game because of your opinion.” This was one of Ninja’s concerns; that young, impressionable players will mindlessly echo the opinions they hear from streamers. “Here’s the crazy thing,” Hoffman said. “My opinion wasn’t that bad, you know what I’m saying? All I said was ‘Fortnite’s hot garbage right now’. That’s all I said. Some people were acting like I said ‘yo, Fortnite needs to die’… ‘this game is unhealthy for all of us’.” “I said like four words,” Hoffman continued. “Like, what? I said four words! You would’ve thought I did a campaign and a protest against Fortnite. That’s the day and age we live in. People get triggered over four words.” While Dakotaz does not specifically mention Ninja, it’s hard to imagine he’s referring to anyone else. The pair’s public argument even accrued the attention of Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney. Tenney and Blevins have argued in the past over the ex-FaZe Clan star’s negativity towards Fortnite. Dakotaz finished: “You would’ve thought I gathered 14,000 people and started protesting outside their building. You would’ve thought I did that.” The argument has split fan opinion. Some argue that Dakotaz is well within his right to criticize the game he is playing, and even suggest Blevins refuses to criticize the game for fear of hindering future collaborations or a relationship with the developer. Others argue in favor of Ninja, and say that people like Dakotaz, who regularly criticize Fortnite, would be better off being more positive, or changing game. Regardless of the community’s opinions, Hoffman appears slightly surprised that his comments have sparked such a debate.
