Benjyfishy raises concerns after Fortnite pros prove teammate is hacking Epic Games/NRGPopular pro player Benjamin ‘benjyfishy’ Fish has raised questions over competitive integrity, after a professional Fortnite duo revealed that their teammate had been cheating undetected in recent tournaments. As far as the world’s most popular battle royales go – Apex Legends, Warzone and Fortnite – all of them have experienced their fair share of hacking issues. Fortnite has, many would argue, the most successful record, regularly preventing hacking and boosting from impacting the average online match. However, recent revelations in the pro community have cast doubt on this, as it becomes clear that one player has been cheating in official tournaments – and managed to remain undetected. On July 31, Team Serenity player Zykoma tweeted to confirm that one of his teammates has indeed been found to be hacking, and had done so in past tournaments. “So yesterday, Bucktee (part of my trio) found that our third member, bman, was secretly using hacks without our knowledge,” he said. “During Daily Trio Cups and the Bugha cup. I’m posting this to show how easily these hacks are accessible and can go multiple tournaments undetected.” Attached was a clip of bman’s gameplay, which appears to show that the individual was indeed using cheats to further his performance. So yesterday, @BuckteeFN (part of my trio) found that our third member, @bmanFN, was secretly using hacks without our knowledge. …during daily trio cups AND bugha cup. I’m posting this to show how easily these hacks are accessible and can go multiple tournaments undetected ?♂️ pic.twitter.com/OYCY8jC2MP — SRN Zykoma (@ZykomaTV) July 31, 2020 Zykoma also added: “I can’t sit back and watch this happen. Bman is literally about to play in the Bugha Cup Finals because of hacks, and no one would have known.” He followed this tweet up with a Discord screenshot, which appears to show bman admitting the offences, referring to his actions as a “mistake”. I fucking hate this situation, and I hate the fact that I have to do this. … but I can’t sit back and watch this happen@bmanFN is literally about to play in the Bugha Cup Finals because of hacks, and no one would have known. pic.twitter.com/iPs43C1I0X — SRN Zykoma (@ZykomaTV) July 31, 2020 The tweets quickly garnered significant attention, as portions of the Fortnite community condemned bman’s actions and called for Epic to do more. Among these players was Benjyfishy, NRG Fortnite pro and prominent Twitch streamer. He said: “I guess this means there probably is some pros cheating without anyone knowing.” i guess this means there probably is some pros cheating without anyone knowing https://t.co/UiDGuvnDsm — benjyfishy (@benjyfishy) July 31, 2020 While some suggested Benjy is assuming the worst case scenario, the very fact that bman was able to compete in tournaments with hundreds of thousands of viewers and remain undetected means that there could well be others using similar exploits. Epic Games are yet to comment publicly on the accusations but have been known to hand out temporary suspensions for similar offences.

Benjyfishy says competitive Fortnite could die as prize pools keep getting lower – Dexerto
Benjyfishy says competitive Fortnite could die as prize pools keep getting lower YouTube / FortniteSeason 5 of the Fortnite Competitive Series hasn’t even started, but pro players – like Benjy ‘benjyfishy’ David Fish – are already calling out Epic Games over the lack of prize money that’s up for grabs in 2021. The Fortnite Competitive Series (FNCS) wrapped up its Season 4 competition in November 2020, and players have been eagerly awaiting the start of FNCS in Season 5. On December 4, Epic Games announced their plans for the next series of Fortnite’s top competitive tournaments. Epic later confirmed that Season 5 of FNCS would begin on February 4. Outside of FNCS tournaments, the developer also announced they would be “putting together a schedule featuring more weekly tournaments, unique tournaments, and Creator Cups.” While this seemed to be a community-focused move, player opinion turned negative when Epic revealed details on the prize pools for some of the additional events. After seeing the news, pro player benjyfishy voiced concerns on the state of competitive Fortnite in 2021. Benjyfishy tweeted out two separate threads regarding the competitive scene. He began by pointing out how 2021 features the “least amount of tournaments we have ever had with the least amount of money.” He added that on top of those problems, Fortnite’s fun-factor is also at an all-time low. The pro then voiced concerns about Epic’s distribution of prize money. “Every time we see that they lower cash cup prize pool we think that they are gonna put it into FNCS or something but it literally never happens,” he said, speaking about the reduced prize pools across the board. least amount of tournaments we have ever had with the least amount of money, with the game being the least fun as i can remember 😢 — benjyfishy (@benjyfishy) January 10, 2021 Benjyfishy started his second series of tweets by mentioning how these issues were handled much better in the past. He said that there is no longer a reason for him to “grind” the game like he did in the past due to a lack of enjoyment and the smaller financial incentives. He also shared his thoughts on the current trajectory of the competitive Fortnite scene. Benjyfishy argued that if Epic continues reducing prize pools – and the incentive for new players and veterans to compete – “the comp scene will slowly start dying out.” and with prize pools constantly getting less and less its gonna be even harder for unknown players to start making a living out of the game which will eventually make them want to stop playing and the comp scene will slowly start dying out if it carries on — benjyfishy (@benjyfishy) January 10, 2021 And the NRG player is not the only big-name player to share concerns on the current state of FNCS and competitive Fortnite. Other prominent pros and content creators voiced their own concerns too. Read More: Lachlan shows off Fortnite stream features – Fellow pro player Jaden ‘Wolfiez’ Ashman called out Epic for the large reductions in prize money. Referencing the announcement of “Friday Nite Bragging Rights” (where winners receive a mention from the competitive Fortnite Twitter account) Wolfiez joked that prize pools have been reduced to “shoutouts.” Fortnite Competitive Prizepools 2019: $30 million 2020: $3 million 2021: Shoutouts— wolfiez (@Wolfiez) January 6, 2021 Other well-known players like Ryan ‘Chap’ Chaplo and Leon ‘Khanada’ Khim shared their own concerns on the state of competitive play. Chap joked that the FNCS prize pool would be reduced to V-Bucks, while Khanada blasted Epic over their reductions in prize pool money. 600 for first r u fucking serious bro how does it go from 3k to 600 — DIG Khanada (@Khanada) January 10, 2021 “600 for first are you f**king serious bro how does it go from 3k to 600,” the pro player asked, referencing an 80% reduction in prize money for some events. The responses from fans showed the community largely feels the same way, with many voicing their own disappointment in the smaller prize pools. While most of the community has been critical of competitive play heading into 2021, some players are trying to find a silver lining. FaZe Clan’s Nate Hill chimed in on the subject, offering his criticism of the situation but also providing an idea for Epic to address the community’s feedback. Hey @FortniteGame if you crowd funded a small % from every battle pass to the Prize pool, we could have real tourneys that people are interested in watching. No one cares who got first place in a vbucks tourney. Dota 2 – 34million. Fortnite – box of cupcakes. — Nate Hill (@NateHillTV) January 10, 2021 Using money from Battle Pass sales could be an easy way for Epic to provide higher prize pools moving forward. With revenue from each pass adding up to hundreds of millions of dollars, giving some of that back to the community could go a long way in addressing the current concerns. Epic has not released any new updates on competitive Fortnite since the Bragging Rights announcement on January 6. It remains to be seen whether the developer will respond to the community’s backlash or take any action to up the prize pools for tournaments moving forward.

Benjyfishy laughs off Fortnite cheating accusations in FNCS event – Dexerto
Benjyfishy laughs off Fortnite cheating accusations in FNCS event Epic GamesBenjamin ‘benjyfishy’ Fish was accused of cheating in a recent round of Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) action, leading the mega-popular player to breakdown the latest scandal mid-stream. One of the most popular names in the competitive Fortnite space, benjyfishy has built a reputation on the back of incredible performances. Not only that, but he’s become one of the most prominent Fortnite streamers due to his positive attitude and often hilarious plays. Due to this popularity, cheating accusations are bound to come through every now and then. Given just how difficult it can be to detect cheaters in competition – something Benjy himself has openly admitted – those at the top of the scene are likely to be accused for the most subtle things imaginable. Whether it’s slightly suspicious aim, or teaming up with other players in solo competition. Plenty of pros have been banned over the years as a result of these accusations. Benjyfishy found himself unable to avoid accusations following the latest round of FNCS competition from August 1-2. His tweets were flooded by the same video day in and day out, forcing the 16-year-old NRG player to respond on-stream. The accusation claims that benjyfishy was secretly working alongside a player named ‘bengraal’ all along. As benjyfishy was weakened in a 1v1, he backed off for a brief moment. In this short stretch of time, bengraal made his way over and immediately started fighting the other opponent, not benjy. While some viewers thought this was suspicious, the British pro reassured that he absolutely wasn’t teaming. “I heard this guy, so what I did…I crouched so he couldn’t hear me,” he explained. As the third party entered the gunfight, benjyfishy remained silent. “He doesn’t know I’m in there. Why would he not just [walk towards] the player out there that he can see?” The other players continued firing away at one another while benjyfishy quietly escaped out the back. He used a Crash Pad to soar away and leave that battle in the rear-view mirror. As a result, his opposition claimed he “should be noticed” and ‘exposed’ him for teaming with bengraal. Naturally, benjyfishy couldn’t keep himself from laughing when hearing these claims on-stream. “I guess I’m teaming with bengraal,” he joked. “I can’t be a**ed man, how can he think I’m f**king teaming?” Benjyfishy finished in first place during the FNCS Week 2 finals, netting a cool $5,000 for his efforts. Having qualified for the Chapter 2 Season 3 Grand Finals, he’ll now be hard at work preparing for the ultimate showdown on August 16.

Benjyfishy and MrSavage Fortnite wagers end with heartwarming surprise – Dexerto
Benjyfishy and MrSavage Fortnite wagers end with heartwarming surprise Epic Games / Twitter NRG[jwplayer ESyDssxd]Fortnite superstars Benjy “benjyfishy” David Fish and Martin “MrSavage” Foss Andersen thought better of pushing for the wager-match win during a recent stream, instead, opting to give a fan a heartwarming memory. Benjyfishy and MrSavage stand out as two of the most popular Fortnite icons around the world. They both have massive followings and have become known for competing at the highest level possible. Despite being some of the fiercest competitors, they’ve also turned into fan-favorite content creators. They often stream everything from practice to official matches on their respective Twitch channels. On July 13 the squad hosted a series of friendly 3v3 wagers alongside German pro LeTsHe. Most of these matchups were extremely sweaty as avid fans did their best to topple the pros. As a younger group came into the mix, however, the elite players went out of their way to secure their first loss of the day. Things started out as an ordinary showdown, with ‘buildfights’ taking up huge chunks of the custom game space. While some players held back from giving it their all, MrSavage amusingly kept up the pace. “You just got clipped, that’s going on my montage,” he joked after winning a round. Before long, however, the trio was all on the same page. They stopped trying to properly duel the young fans and instead, wanted to give them a memorable win. As the rounds went by, the opposing team got more and more excited. Cheering as they downed some of the most popular names in all of Fortnite. In the final round, it came down to MrSavage with just a sliver of HP. Instead of pushing for the montage clip this time though, he played it differently. “You have to make it look convincing,” LeTsHe said as their plan came together. MrSavage intentionally missed some shots, jumped off his build, and in a split moment, lost the game for his team. “You guys beat us,” Benjyfishy repeated. It took a few seconds to sink in but the kids soon expressed their excitement. “Benjy said that we beat them,” one of the young players explained to his parents. They all adorably said “thank you” to the popular streamers before the wager challenge moved on. “I’ll keep you added so maybe we can play some games later,” Benjyfishy said. While it was all over in a matter of minutes, beating some of the top Fortnite pros is a memory that could stick with those kids for years to come.

Benjyfishy kills Fortnite pros Mongraal, mitr0 & crr with hilarious reaction – Dexerto
Benjyfishy kills Fortnite pros Mongraal, mitr0 & crr with hilarious reaction FaZe Clan / Twitter: benjyfishyPro Fortnite player Benjy ‘Benjyfishy’ Fish eliminated fellow pros Kyle ‘Mongraal’ Jackson, Dmitri ‘Mitr0’ Van de Vrie and Chris ‘crr’ Williams within moments of each other in the same game – all while in a call with them. Benjyfishy is one of the most successful Fortnite players currently, consistently ranking among the very best in online tournaments, alongside longterm duo Mongraal and his other two victims in this brilliant clip. While playing solo Arena matches, Benjy is just treating it like any other game, but soon realizes in the most hilarious fashion that this lobby may have been a little more stacked than others – but it’s no problem for him. Running around Slurpy Swamp, Benjy hears some commotion nearby to check it out and stumbles upon a couple of players obviously trying to get the better of each other. After taking out one, he swiftly eliminates the second and immediately realizes it’s Mitr0 – cracking up at the Dutch player’s misfortune. Hardly 15 seconds later he takes out another player, immediately shouting “oh my god” as he sees crr’s name pop up on his screen. If Benjy didn’t find this hilarious enough, 25 seconds later another player pushes him and he knocks him out with two hits of the tac shotgun – and nearly screams when the words “Eliminated FaZe Mongraal” popped up on his screen. (Timestamp 1:55 for mobile viewers) Benjy struggles to even get words out between laughter and his cries of “oh my god” and “no,” before finally finding the breath to say “Yes, I’ve just killed Mongraal, mitr0 and crr in the same game!” Benjy went on to get a 22-kill Victory Royale in the game, no doubt feeling much more confident after taking down three of Europe’s top talents in quick succession. Although Arena matches aren’t the peak of competitive Fortnite, Benjy will certainly be holding this over their heads for a very long time.

Benjyfishy gets Fortnite cheaters disqualified at $250,000 Dreamhack LAN – Dexerto
Benjyfishy gets Fortnite cheaters disqualified at $250,000 Dreamhack LAN Superstar Fortnite pro Benjy ‘Benjyfishy’ David Fish exposed two players who were cheating at the $250,000 Dreamhack Winter event, leading to their eventual disqualification. Cheating in Fortnite online and in the privacy of your own home is much more feasible than doing so while competing at an actual event for hundreds of thousands of dollars. However, two players, who go by the names of ‘Shadoxxx’ and ‘Stele98’ in-game, apparently found a way to cheat by teaming in the currently ongoing $250,000 Fortnite tournament, held at this year’s Dreamhack Winter event in Sweden. They were exposed on Twitter by World Cup finalist Benjyfishy, who is in attendance and will be competing in the tournament later on in the weekend. The NRG star posted a video in which the two players can clearly be seen teaming, with Luminosity Gaming’s Khuna being the one who unfortunately fell victim to the cheaters. While most of the accusations of cheating often come with circumstantial evidence that can be subjective, Benjy’s video is very damning and conclusive. The two players were standing still very near each other and waiting for Khuna to get in between them, at which point they both opened fire at the same time and quickly took down the LG pro. The evidence was so overwhelming that it took the Dreamhack officials almost no time at all to disqualify the cheaters, tweeting out the news less than an hour after Benjy’s tweet was posted. “We’re investigating the matter and disqualified the people in question for collusion,” the wrote. “We’ll continue to keep an eye out and investigate suspicious behavior. Of course, this isn’t the first time that teaming has taken center-stage at a major Fortnite tournament, as most fans will remember the controversy surrounding World Cup finalists XXiF and Ronaldo. The two players were deemed to have been teaming while playing a qualifier for the Solos World Cup. Still, their subsequent suspension ended just in time for them to play in a qualifier for the Duos tournament, which they ended up qualifying for. This sparked significant outrage and backlash from the community towards Epic Games, which was exemplified by the massive boos that XXiF received from the crowd when he was shown on the big screen.

Benjyfishy Fortnite teammate JoeFN has Twitter hacked over cheating allegations – Dexerto
Benjyfishy Fortnite teammate JoeFN has Twitter hacked over cheating allegations Epic Games / NRG EsportsOne of Benjyfishy’s new teammates JoeFN has been hacked on social media, over allegations that he’s downloaded cheats for his account. With the recent conclusion of Season 7’s FNCS event, we’ve seen a flurry of trios split ways and new teams surge throughout recent events. Benjyfishy and his trio of Shadoww and JoeFN are one of the trios who’re sticking out over the off-season, despite the disappointing Grand Finals. The trio has found success in the Fortnite Cash Cups, which they’ve recently placed fourth as of August 25, and they’re looking to bounce back in the next FNCS which is coming with the release of Season 8. However, Joe’s Twitter account was taken into possession by a hacker on Sept 12, who claimed the player downloaded cheats which allowed them to gain access to the account. Fortnite pro JoeFN’s Twitter hacked Top-tier Fortnite professionals being accused of hacks by social media account is something that has become very common recently within the esport. As, other European pros such as Th0masHD were at the brute end of this, with some accounts claiming the player has been using aimbot hacks for several months now. The hacker, got into Joe’s account the morning of September 12 and claimed they were able to access the account because of the player downloading cheats/hacks from software in the past. The hacker then requested a ransom of $2000 in Bitcoin to give Joe his account back. The Fortnite community quickly took notice of this, with many chiming on in the tweets they were posting including ones from Benjyfishy himself and other notable names within the scene. no one is sending you money broke boy, you’ve been spamming your btc address and begging for money for the past hour and haven’t gotten a single cent, that’s just embarrassing pic.twitter.com/kGFDd9Og57 — Serpent 🌟 (@SerpentAU) September 12, 2021 ur asking the fortnite com for 2 grand mate ur not getting that anytime soon — benjyfishy (@benjyfishy) September 12, 2021 After a few egregious tweets, Joe confirmed he’d gotten access to his account back with no one actually sending the hacker any BTC. While all seems good now on the end of Joe, it remains to be seen if we’ll see anything similar to this happen again in the future.

Fan goes ballistic after randomly joining Benjyfishy’s Fortnite lobby – Dexerto
Fan goes ballistic after randomly joining Benjyfishy’s Fortnite lobby A die-hard fan of Fortnite Battle Royale pro Benjy ‘Benjyfishy’ David Fish went ballistic after joining the player’s lobby randomly, leaving him a bit bewildered. Benjyfishy is one of the biggest personalities in Fortnite, with almost 500,000 subscribers on YouTube, over 400,000 followers on Twitter, and over 500,000 followers on Twitch. With this level of popularity comes a legion of fans from all walks of life, and with all sorts of personalities. During his Christmas Eve stream, Benjy encountered one of the most enthusiastic fans ever, who spent minutes screaming and crying over being in the same lobby as his idol. “Oh my god,” the fan, ‘Jonj,’ yelled. “I’m in a game with Benjy!” Jonj was so excited it sounded like he was losing his voice, as he kept screaming in shock at what he had stumbled into on Christmas Eve. “I’m in a game with f**king Benjy,” he said, before begging the NRG pro to speak. However, Benjy was unsure of what to do, with the streamer looking slightly confused at the situation he was in. “Do I speak,” he asked his chat. He eventually opened up his mic, telling the fan to calm down a little bit. “Yo, yo, bro what the f**k. I’ve never heard somebody so gassed to be in a lobby with me.” After the fan composed himself, they loaded into a creative game and chilled for a bit. He even called Benjy a “god” and asked about his World Cup experience, which he described as just “good.” There was a bit on the line though. Benjy wagered Twitter follows for the fan and his friends in the boxfight custom, before proceeding to demolish all of them. Round after round, Jonj wasn’t able to beat Benjy and his crew, and tempers started flaring. As the compliments turned into insults in the heat of battle, Benjy couldn’t help but laugh and throw a bit of BM in the mix to keep things interesting. While Jonj was able to live out a dream of his to play with Benjyfishy, he sadly walked away with his tail between his legs after getting handed a heavy defeat at the hands of the pro. At least he can say he’s played with the best of them though, and the experience of even just facing up with one of his idols will last forever.

The Canadian rapper and singer posted a TikTok titled “Where we dropping?” two weeks prior, in which he reacted to fan-made concept Fortnite skins of himself. In regards to his Fortnite skin, “We think the red cowboy top seen in your cover art for the song could be a really good fit here, especially if we include some strong and ‘loud’ tassels on the top and across the sides of the pants,” they said. It was not made clear when bbno$’s alleged skin and cosmetic bundle would be released, but it was to help promote his song “it boy” which was released on May 24, and then ended the email with “Please let me know no later than June 28, 2024.” It’s possible it could potentially launch in Fortnite during Chapter 5 Season 3. At the time of writing, bbno$ nor Epic Games has confirmed if his skin bundle is actually in the works or commented on the situation any further.

It is caused by unusual development or damage to the parts of the brain that control bodily movement. Anyone new to our journey. bbno$ claims Fortnite canceled his skin collab due to viral TikTok leak – Dexerto
bbno$ claims Fortnite canceled his skin collab due to viral TikTok leak DexertoMusic artist bbno$’s deal with Fortnite for in-game cosmetics has allegedly been called off after he leaked the information early. On June 22, bbno$ posted a TikTok video of an email he allegedly received from an Epic Games employee about an upcoming Fortnite collaboration. The email outlined how Epic was interested in making cosmetic items in Fortnite that would surround his latest song “it boy” that released on May 24. Since its release, the song has become popular on TikTok, with over 25,000 videos using the official audio. This popularity seemingly gained the attention of Epic, who were looking to make an emote and multiple items inspired by the song. The initial video made by bbno$ garnered over 4.5 million views in less than a week. However, shortly after going viral, bbno$ had bad news for his once-excited fans. Another TikTok, created on June 25, just three days after the email was leaked, showed bbno$ receiving yet another email, this time regarding the collaboration’s cancellation. “TERMINATION: Fortnite x bbno$ collaboration // Breach of Confidentiality,” the email headline reads. The presumed official email states that “Epic Games will be terminating our partnership with bbno$” and won’t be making the promised Fortnite cosmetics. As bbno$ moves out of frame, more of the alleged email becomes readable. It states that the breach of confidentiality associated with the previous TikTok was the reason for the collaboration’s cancellation. While bbno$ did not appear genuinely upset, those in the comments had a different feeling, blaming Fortnite instead of the artist. “Punished for the free plug?” said one commenter. It seems like the supposed collaboration between the two would have even gotten some people back into the game, especially considering what Fortnite has done with artists in the past, like Lady Gaga, Eminem, Billie Elish, and Metallica. “Insane because I would’ve installed Fortnite again just for this,” said another commenter. Outside of bbno$ word, there is no proof that these emails actually came from Epic as the email addresses are covered in both videos. Without real evidence, there’s no telling if the collaboration was really canceled or if it was happening at all.

It’s fair to say Fortnite is no stranger to crossovers with Master Chief, Kratos, the Mandalorian, and various other characters from popular franchises making an appearance in the game. So, it was no surprise to hear that DC’s caped crusader would be making a big impact and potentially arriving in Season 6. The question is, when and where can we expect Batman to arrive in Fortnite. Well, Fortnite streamer and podcast host Squatingdog has made an interesting prediction of where he thinks Batman’s Batcave will be located and it’s got Fortnite fans extremely excited. Season 6 Batcave location potentially revealed With the DC x Fortnite Zero Point Comic covers being revealed, it’s safe to say Fortnite players have their fingers crossed that a DC in-game crossover is on the horizon. Of course, no partnership with DC would be complete without the Caped Crusader himself and fans have begun speculating on where Batman will be located on the Season 6 map. Read More: How to unlock Raven in Fortnite Season 6 – A prediction from streamer Squatingdog is being shared on Twitter by the Fortnite community, as he has speculated on an exact location for the cave. The marked location is just West of Sweaty Sands appears to be the perfect outcrop of rocks for a Batcave to be situated. Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR even added that the creators of the crossover comic have hinted at the inclusion of a Batcave on the Fortnite map, so hopefully, this is the area where they choose to add it. Oh, I forgot to mention this: In the Batman/Fortnite comics, Batman builds a small Batcave to make it his lair, and the creators of the comics have hinted that this Batcave might be coming to the game in this season! https://t.co/Ene8xhjqpa — Shiina (@ShiinaBR) March 16, 2021 As of yet, there is nothing of interest to be found at the location but that doesn’t mean an entrance couldn’t open up at some point in the Season. With the Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point comics releasing on April 20, it would make sense for an in-game event to occur around that time. We’ll have to keep our eyes peeled and keep tabs on any other map changes over the course of the Season.

Bassassin Challenge Pack Leaked for Fortnite Season 2 – Dexerto
Bassassin Challenge Pack Leaked for Fortnite Season 2 Epic GamesReputable Fortnite leaker ‘Lucas7yoshi’ has revealed a first look at the Bassassin Challenge Pack coming to Fortnite Chapter Two: Season Two in the near future. Fortnite is known for its awesome and customizable skins, with the third-person perspective maximizing their importance in Epic’s building battle royale. While some of the older skins, notably the Fishstick and Leviathan skins, have inherent fish themes, the introduction of Fishing Rods in Chapter 2 added to the somewhat odd aquatic undercurrents to Fortnite. It seems these fishy undertones are going to be strengthened further with the introduction of the Bassassin Challenge Pack, which has been found in game files by leaker Lucas7yoshi. One of the most reliable data-miners in the Fortnite community, Yoshi has correctly predicted a host of additions to the game. These include upcoming skins and weapons, as well as map changes. On March 20, he shared the first images of the Bassassin Challenge Pack. The fishy skin will be familiar to a large portion of the Fortnite community, but the addition of a suave suit is where the Bassassin becomes a crossover with the infamous John Wick skins. SORRY FOR INCORRECT PREVIOUS TWEET, I DIDN’T CHANGE THE OFFERID TO HIM Bassassin Challenge Pack As a Bassassin, it pays to be cold-blooded. Get the Contract Giller Outfit, Dorsal Destroyer Back Bling, and complete Daily Assignments to earn up to 1,000 V-Bucks!” The price and release date of the Bassassin pack remains unknown at the time of writing. The leaker guessed at around $10, going off the price of similar skins upon their addition. Similarly, skins tend to only be added to the game’s files close to their release date in order to try and maximize their discretion. expectation is 10 USD, and i’d say thats reasonable. I’ll check it tomorrow or something to see if it gets added. — Lucas7yoshi – Leaks (@Lucas7yoshi) March 21, 2020 It remains a possibility that we will not see the Bassassin Challenge Pack in Fortnite at any point. It will remain unconfirmed until Epic Games provide us with any concrete information. In-game development plans can change depending on a variety of factors, including player feedback and undiscovered bugs or glitches. Assuming everything goes as planned, we can expect to see Bassassins in Fortnite Chapter 2 very soon.

That’s about all that was known until the cover for the one-shot collab was apparently leaked. An image shared by Fortnite insider ‘iFireMonkey’ revealed the cover art for the first issue with Batman and The Foundation fighting in the center of the frame. However, Fortnite fans were more interested in the lurking figure in the background and are wondering if that is the skin that’s set to launch with the comic. Batman Fortnite Foundation comic skin The Batman Who Laughs could be the skin that will come bundled with Batman Fortnite Foundation #1. Behind the two warring stars of the story appears the unmistakable grin of The Batman Who Laughs, a version of Bruce Wayne who was infected by the Joker toxin. Major story points of the new arc are still unknown, but we do know the physical comic will have a bonus digital code for an outfit in Fortnite. There’s going to be plenty of interest when the comic finally drops to see what new skin is coming to the game and we can’t wait to see what it is.

Barbie and Oppenheimer collide in Fortnite’s newest player-made map – Dexerto
Barbie and Oppenheimer collide in Fortnite’s newest player-made map Epic Games/squatingdogThe unexpected Barbenheimer phenomenon, which emerged when the Barbie and Oppenheimer movies were released on the same day, has inspired a unique fan-made Fortnite map. This intriguing fusion has been created by an inventive Fortnite player who has capitalized on the game’s tradition of unusual crossovers. The worlds of the two movies could not be more different. Barbie is a fun and colorful film, while Oppenheimer is a dark, historical drama about the horrors of war. Yet, these contrasting themes have given rise to a new trend. Viewers have seemingly enjoyed watching both movies one after another, appreciating the massive contrast between the two experiences. Creative Fortnite player Squatingdog has brought this contrasting combination to life, sharing a trailer for the “unlikely collab” of Barbenheimer. The Barbenheimer map, accessible with the island code 0347-5540-6538, presents an incredible blend of the Barbie and Oppenheimer worlds. And in yet another crossover, the map draws inspiration from the famous Nuketown layout from Call of Duty. The island is divided neatly in two, with each half paying homage to its respective film. On one side of the map, players can explore Barbie’s world, complete with vibrant pink dream houses and eclectic outfits. On the other side, they encounter the harsh and desolate landscape of Oppenheimer, replete with soldiers and ominous threats of nuclear warfare. Fortnite, with its rich history of unlikely crossovers, seems to be the perfect platform for such an unexpected pairing. The list of official Fortnite crossovers and collabs hasn’t stopped growing, with the Battle Royale game featuring the likes of Marvel, Star Wars, Attack on Titan, Dragon Ball Z, and an unparalleled list of other unexpected collaborations. Fortnite’s creative tools have enabled players to explore their creativity and construct detailed and imaginative maps. The Barbenheimer map is just the latest example of this trend.

Banned duo qualify for Fortnite World Cup after cheating suspension ends – Dexerto
Banned duo qualify for Fortnite World Cup after cheating suspension ends Epic GamesTwo professional Fortnite Battle Royale players have managed to qualify for the Fortnite World Cup after they were reinstated from the ban they’d received earlier in the qualification phase. Pro players Damion ‘XXiF’ C. and Ronald ‘Ronaldo’ Mach finished with 91 points in the NA East region of Week 8 of the World Cup Qualifiers, good enough for third place in the region and a cool $6,500. This means that the pair have booked a trip to the duos tournament of the $30 million World Cup in July, as the top three teams in NA East all automatically qualify. However, what’s most interesting about these players qualifying is that they had been banned in the early weeks of the qualifying stage for having been found cheating. They were handed a 14-day competitive ban after the third week, meaning that they were first eligible to compete again in Week 6, and have now managed to clinch qualification in Week 8. Considering that both players have a history of being caught cheating, however, it’s likely that Epic Games and fellow pros will take a very close look at all of their qualification matches, just to make sure they didn’t resort to their previous foul ways. Why were XXiF and Ronaldo banned? XXiF and Ronaldo were initially suspended from competing after a clip went viral showing XXiF clearly teaming with other players during the Week 3 solos qualifier. Epic Games issued their official competitive ruling on May 1, stating that “a group of players attempted to undermine the competition by colluding across several matches.” XXiF, who had qualified for the solos tournament during that third week, was forced to give up his qualification spot, and he and Ronaldo were subsequently dropped from Rise Nation’s pro Fortnite BR roster after the competitive ruling was announced. Community reacts to XXiF and Ronaldo qualifying When Epic first announced their competitive ruling, many in the Fortnite BR community were stunned that XXiF and Ronaldo had only been issued 14-day suspensions, considering that they had been caught outright cheating. Now, as expected, many have taken to Twitter to react to the fact that the very same players have managed to qualify, and here are some of the best reaction tweets. NOT! Definitely an amazing come back after they were banned in week 3 for literally cheating. Glad to see them secure a duo spot in week 8 of the qualifiers.” — LG SypherPK (@SypherPK) May 3, 2019 All that said, XXiF and Ronaldo qualifying for the World Cup won’t be set in stone until Epic Games themselves confirm it, so it will be worth monitoring the situation in the coming hours and days. As always, we will continue to bring you the latest on this ongoing story, as more information becomes available.

Banned Fortnite cheater brags they made $11,000 with hardware hacks – Dexerto
Banned Fortnite cheater brags they made $11,000 with hardware hacks Epic Games / Twitter: SypherPKA Fortnite player has admitted to using cheating devices in tournaments, earning $11,000 before being banned. They casually revealed this on Twitter, sharing a screenshot of their ban and celebrating their ill-gotten gains. Fortnite tournaments can be a big moneymaker for skilled players. Epic Games hosts cash-prize events like the Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS), Cash Cups, and Victory Cups. Whether you’re solo or in a duo, there’s a chance to snag up to $100 per match. It’s also lucrative if you can get away with cheating, and one brazen cheater just owned up to it in the most casual way possible. The player posted their ban notice, captioning it, “GGS!! Was fun while it lasted at least I made 11,000. Work in the shadows.” The cheater used a special device that runs the game on one PC and cheats on another. “That’s insane they’re just straight up admitting it online. You’d think they’d keep it on the DL,” said one commenter. This cheater wasn’t the only one bragging about it either. According to replies on Twitter and Reddit, other players have gotten in trouble for using similar cheats, earning a decent chunk of change before getting caught. As one Redditor said, “Epic might be stepping up and finding ways to ban more cheaters, but it’s been going on for a long time unnoticed.” The cheater’s open confession sparked frustration in the Fortnite community. One hopeful player said, “Hopefully they get persecuted. If Epic knows for sure they cheated and have a record of participating in tournaments they won, they could have it stripped and fined.” With the rise of more sophisticated cheats, Fortnite’s competitive integrity is under threat. Epic seems to be cracking down, but as long as these devices exist, it’s a cat-and-mouse game. Meanwhile, in the land of casual players, people are practically clawing at each other over the ultra elusive Ultra Doom Mythic.

Balloons that will “defy gravity” coming to Fortnite Battle Royale – Dexerto
Balloons that will “defy gravity” coming to Fortnite Battle Royale A new item has been unveiled in the daily message on Fortnite, announcing that Balloons are on their way to the battle royale mode, presumably allowing players to float upwards. These balloons are more than just part decorations it seems, and will have an actual gameplay functionality, with their effect increased with the more balloons you have. Currently though, all we have is an image of three rather plain looking balloons, and a basic description which leaves a lot to the imagination at this point. The description reads “Inflate balloons to defy gravity! Add balloons to increase your altitude!” – which points to these balloons allowing players to float upwards as though they are being carried away. The more balloons one has, then the higher you can rise, presumably, although the exact physics mechanics are unclear. These balloons will likely be found around the map and picked up, but whether they are instant use consumables or can be stored in your inventory, we don’t know yet. You can rack up 350 battle stars in Fortnite thanks to a glitch in Fortnitemares [UPDATED]They don’t seem to be part of the ongoing Fortnitemares event, considering they aren’t spooky in any sense, so perhaps the next update will also bring an end to Fortnitemares, tying in with the end of the Halloween season.

Banks breaks silence on Jarvis’ future in Fortnite and FaZe Clan – Dexerto
Banks breaks silence on Jarvis’ future in Fortnite and FaZe Clan Owner of FaZe Clan Ricky ‘Banks’ Banks has revealed more details on the permanent ban handed out to 18-year-old Fortnite player and YouTuber Jarvis Kaye, after he uploaded YouTube videos using aimbotting technology. Back in November, Epic Games handed out a permanent ban to FaZe Clan’s Jarvis after he uploaded a series of videos in which he used an aimbot on his alternative account. Although it wasn’t on his main account, or in a competitive setting, Epic still permanently banned Jarvis, effectively ending his Fortnite career. Jarvis gave a tearful apology but has, at the time of writing, not had his ban shortened or rescinded in any way. On December 8, FaZe Clan owner Ricky Banks spoke to TMZSports, answering numerous questions pertaining to Jarvis, who has been relatively quiet in the public sphere since his permanent ban. Banks confirmed he has spoken to Jarvis countless times since he acquired his ban, and that the 18-year-old remains in good spirits, despite the fact he can no longer play Epic Games’ building battle royale. “He’s good man, Jarvis is doing really good,” Banks said. “He’s back at home, kicking with his family. He’s holding in there, he’s family so we got him.” Following his ban news reports emerged that the Jarvis would be returning home to the UK, stories that appear true as Bank confirmed “he’s back home”. Banks also described him as “forever a legend” in the gaming community, but that his future on Fortnite is basically non-existent. “The chances of him playing Fortnite are zero,” Banks stated. “The chances of him creating content around Fortnite – there’s potential in that. Kinda just going with the flow.” Banks didn’t clarify his comments any further, but it certainly seems like we’ve seen the end of FaZe Jarvis in a competitive Fortnite sense. It remains uncertain whether we’ll see Jarvis in a content creation role, particularly given his permanent ban from all aspects of the game – not just competitive. Regardless of the 18 year old’s future, it certainly appears that Banks and other FaZe Clan members are going to look out for their teammate.

Awesome Fortnite Wrap concept changes color depending on the weapon rarity – Dexerto
Awesome Fortnite Wrap concept changes color depending on the weapon rarity An awesome Fortnite weapon Wrap concept has surfaced online, where the camo would change according to the rarity of the weapon it was attached to. The simple idea, which was posted to Reddit by user nhojcs, would allow players to have a Wrap which would adapt each time they picked up a different weapon. For example, if you had found a rare heavy assault rifle early in the game, the camo would appear as a light blue. Then, if you later exchanged that AR for a Legendary version, the Wrap would turn a bright shade of orange. One Reddit user, cobainbc15, said: “I like it! Some people don’t want to ‘advertise’ the quality they’re rocking but if it was based on the rarity maybe I’d scare a few people who would take me out otherwise.” The idea of knowing the rarity of a weapon would look great in-game, but as this user suggested, it could also have other uses. Also, noticing the rarity of somebody’s weapon might also encourage more players to push them – as Red-Ryder pointed out. “I don’t think you scare people when they see a golden scar in your hands. They probably want to kill you and take it”, they said. This is not the only weapon Wrap concept, of course. Since the feature was introduced in the v7.00 patch, many players have taken to social media to show off their designs. Noticeable mentions include a ‘Llama Wrap‘, ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Wraps‘ and a ‘Chameleon Skin‘ concept.

Awesome concept weapon would see Throwing Knives added to Fortnite – Dexerto
Awesome concept weapon would see Throwing Knives added to Fortnite A clever concept weapon would allow players to harness their inner Chuck Norris with the addition of Throwing Knives to Fortnite Battle Royale. The throwing knife is a classic weapon from movies, and has also become a cultural icon in gaming thanks to its inclusion in games like Call of Duty, where players would try and capture amazing trick shots with the items. Now, Reddit user ‘ER4S0R’ would like to see the items added to the latest phenomenon in gaming, Fortnite. Players would be able to carry the item in stacks of 10, with the Throwing Knives having no drawtime before they are fired, and would make no sound once they had been thrown. The items would have a limited range over which they could be thrown, meaning players couldn’t launch the item incredibly far distances to hit an opponent, and would have to time and aim their shots perfectly to make them effective. What would make the Throwing Knives different to any other weapon in the game is the way they would deal damage to opponents. Instead of doing all the damage at once, the knife would deal a base damage of 30 points, and then take another three points off for bleeding from the knife in the five second period after the item found it’s target. While the Throwing Knives wouldn’t be great over long ranges, they could be used very effectively up close if your aim was good enough to hit opponents multiple times in a short space of time. They could also be used to perform sneak attacks, as players wouldn’t be able to hear the blade being thrown, and would only know they were under attack once they started taking damage. While there are no official plans for Throwing Knives to be added to Fortnite at the moment, Epic Games will be adding a ‘Mounted Turret’ to the game in the next major update.

Fortnite: How to avoid fall damage with new Flint-Knock pistol – Dexerto
Fortnite: How to avoid fall damage with new Flint-Knock pistol TreyarchFall damage is one of the biggest causes of accidental eliminations in Fortnite Battle Royale and has been for quite some time, but the arrival of a new weapon in Season 8 might oddly provide a solution. Epic Games made it clear that the Flint-Knock pistol was unlike any other handgun in the battle royale game mode right now when it was first advertised in the news feed – warning fans to “be careful! It’s got a kick to it!” However, little did they know that the developer was adding a pistol in the v8.11 patch that would push players back after pulling the trigger. It seems, though, that the push back is not only useful in gunfights – as seen with the first in-game footage of the weapon on March 20 – but also for avoiding fall damage. Read More: How to find secret Banner for Week 4, Season 8 Discovery challenge – Battle Star replaced – The way that this works seems to be rather simple, too. According to Reddit user moekhdaier, who posted a video showing that the blast – when shot downwards at the floor – can be an effective counterplay when falling. The clip above shows a technique that allows players to bounce away from elimination, just before they’re about the hit the floor – which would typically prove fatal if the drop was big enough. Whether or not this was an intentional tool to set the pistol apart from other weapons remains to be seen, but this could also be a bug.

Avatar’s bending mythics are the best (and worst) thing Fortnite has ever added – Dexerto
Avatar’s bending mythics are the best (and worst) thing Fortnite has ever added Epic GamesFortnite’s new Avatar bending mythics are some of the best in the game’s history, but also some of the worst ever depending on which element you end up with. Fortnite has unleashed four bending abilities from the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender as new mythics to shake up the Battle Royale. With the launch of the Avatar Elements event, all the Greek god abilities were removed and players have already forgotten about them thanks to bending dominating the meta. Overall, they have instantly impressed. It has given players inventive ways to play along with sleek and smooth animations to boot which perfectly replicate the famous Avatar abilities from the hit series. Despite Waterbending being introduced first on April 2, it has still proven to be an effective replacement for your AR or any weapon altogether. It boasts unlimited ammo, a cooldown period that is not too long and consistent strength and damage at all distances compared to every other weapon. Not only that, if you are submerged in water, your health will steadily restore up to 100. What’s not to love? The star of the show though has shown to be Airbending so far. The special power that is synonymous with Avatar Aang himself, has already been hailed as the “best mobility item ever” and, on top of that, is incredibly fun to use. Whether you want to quickly traverse across the Island by air, land, water, or even uniquely scale mountains, Airbending has you covered. However, the remaining two abilities of Firebending and Earthbending have not started so strong. Firstly, Earthbending has been riddled with issues, which caused Epic to briefly vault the mythic due to various projectile glitches, before returning it to the Island. Aside from this, it takes far too long to build a wall and is nowhere near effective enough when firing chunks of earth at enemies. It has been stronger in Fortnite’s Zero Build mode, but still fails to pack a punch in comparison. On the other hand, Firebending has been the worst of them all. The animation and visual flare behind Firebending is top notch, but, as soon as you go to fire slam down on your opponents, it feels clunky and extremely slow. It looks good from a distance, but feels terrible to use and makes you an easy target. Furthermore, the payoff for hitting an enemy despite Firebending’s downsides aren’t worth it. Don’t fall for the illusion of it being better at close range — even at the range it should excel, this mythic doesn’t do much. You’re better off taking some good old-fashioned firepower and bringing your trusty shotgun with you instead. Firebending feels a pointless addition from Epic so far, which is a shame considering the Fire Nation is the most fearful in the series. Which only makes the bending type’s complete lack of strength and impact one of Fortnite’s biggest letdowns in recent memory. Epic still has the potential to make the Avatar: The Last Airbender collab with Fortnite one of the best of all time, as long as they give Earthbending a tweak and Firebending the almighty buff and TLC it deserves.

Avengers: Endgame somehow predicted the return of Fortnite OG in 2023 – Dexerto
Avengers: Endgame somehow predicted the return of Fortnite OG in 2023 Epic GamesFortnite fans are noticing Avengers: Endgame correctly predicted the return of Fortnite OG, with screenshots showing eerie similarities. Since its debut in 2017, Fortnite has grown into something larger than life. What started as a simple battle royale with original characters turned into a “build-off” between Naruto Uzumaki and Deadpool. Celebrities aside, it’s never been more present than with its consistent crossovers, with brands such as Marvel. Nearly all of the household Marvel names are available in Fortnite as a result of numerous in-game collabs with Marvel movies. Interestingly enough, it turns out Marvel knew something about Fortnite all those years ago that fans did not, as a scene from Avengers: Endgame accurately predicted the future of Fortnite. Fortnite player discovers impeccable OG prediction in Endgame Fortnite has seen many changes since it first arrived, with countless seasons introducing something new to the game. Millions of players have loaded in since launch, including the fictional character Korg from Avengers: Endgame. In the movie, Korg played a match of Fortnite, yet his POV looked very different from ours as he was playing the vanilla version of the battle royale. Endgame was released in 2019, yet the events took place in October 2023, so it seemed like a silly easter egg. Yet here we are, and players have noticed that Korg’s silly Fortnite moment in Salty Springs may have accurately predicted the future. Fortnite is currently in the midst of its latest season, Fortnite OG, which is a call back to the simpler times of the game. Players can jump into Chapter 1 Season 5 of Fortnite albeit with improved gameplay mechanics. Comparing the two side-by-side images, it’s clear to notice a few differences. Korg didn’t have the benefit of the Reboot Van, and HUD changes are just a few notables fans picked out between the two. However, it’s still neat to see how far Fortnite’s reach was back in 2019, easter egg or conspiracy aside. Maybe it was part of a grander scheme. “It’s clear this season was a legal obligation to ensure Endgame’s timeline of events was correct,” replied one user. To be fair, we’re still here today, so they aren’t wrong.

Avatar Waterbending Mythic in Fortnite is basically “bringing water gun to a gunfight” – Dexerto
Avatar Waterbending Mythic in Fortnite is basically “bringing water gun to a gunfight” Epic GamesThe Waterbending Mythic is now in Fortnite, and it’s being blasted by players for how underwhelming it is to use in the game. Fortnite’s latest update sees Avatar finally join the battle royale with the latest hotfix. Players can now unlock Avatar Korra via a bevy of quests and catch a glimpse of our frozen hero from the original series. Along with Korra’s arrival, the new Waterbending Mythic is in the loot pool. As the name implies, players can equip it to shoot water-based projectiles, capturing the series’ magical techniques and arts. However, as soon as the Waterbending Mythic arrived, it’s been blasted to smithereens by the community. In a clip shared to the Fortnite subreddit, a player bluntly stated, “The new Waterbeding Mythic is so bad,” as they lost a fight in seconds with none of the projectiles landing. Players were quick to share similar stories of how the Mythic failed them, particularly due to the projectiles not connecting at all. Others shared how underwhelming it was due to its base 20 damage dealt upon hitting your shots. One player jokingly replied: “Fishstick is a fish so a water attack is not going to do a lot of damage.” It turns out the Mythic itself was seemingly bugged, as confirmed by Fortnite’s Status account on Twitter/X. A fix has been deployed since then, yet it doesn’t address the underwhelming nature of the new Mythic. “The Mythics this season suck,” one player said, capturing a shared somber community sentiment. With the season underway, hopefully, additional Mythic introductions see a bit better balancing to please the Fortnite community.

Australian Police Department Use Fortnite Analogy to Ask Drivers Not to Use Their Phone When Driving – Dexerto
Australian Police Department Use Fortnite Analogy to Ask Drivers Not to Use Their Phone When Driving The popularity of Fortnite is being used for good down under after an Australian police department incorporated the game into a safety campaign. Since launching in November 2017, Fortnite has become a cultural phenomenon that has quite literally captured the imaginations of millions across the globe. As it’s available across a wide range of platforms and free to play, it’s no surprise that alongside the hype of the game there is also people trying to bring it down. News stations across the world have been attempting to get the message across that the game could be dangerous, including a number of parents interviewed to claim it’s changed their children. Fortunately for Epic Games that hasn’t seemed to stop people from playing the game, including an impressive $100 million made in transactions in just 90 days of being live on iOS. One Australian police force is attempting to use the popularity of Fortnite for good, by using an analogy to stop people using their phone while driving. The New South Wales PD posted a picture of someone driving while holding a phone that shows a character jumping into Tilted Towers. Augments are missed in Fortnite, but players are convinced they will never return – Dexerto
Augments are missed in Fortnite, but players are convinced they will never return Epic GamesFortnite players are beginning to lose all hope that Augments will finally make a comeback after Epic Games teased their return in Chapter 5 Season 1, and then scrapped them completely. The once beloved feature in Fortnite was introduced in the first season of Chapter 4, and was present in Battle Royale right up to the end, before the Season OG update vaulted them all. Augments shook up the meta by giving players a range of different enhancements during their matches. Augments have been a large part of why many hail Chapter 4 as one of the best Chapters in Fortnite’s history. However, there has been a growing feeling that they will never come back, as one player asked “Do y’all remember these things?” Despite some stating that the “RNG of them really ruined their use,” and others just simply “didn’t like them at all,” the overwhelming consensus between the playerbase was that they would welcome them back in a heartbeat. “I miss them every match… The mobility in this chapter is very lackluster, and augments would’ve filled in that gap,” a player responded, as another stated: “We need them back, gave the game balance and felt more enjoyable.” In response to the RNG issues, a player commented: “Their unpredictability made them fun. Sure some people got better augments than others, but I didn’t mind.” However, many simply echoed the thoughts of one: “This has been my all-time favorite Fortnite feature. It’s such a shame that it’s gone and that it will never come back.” The belief has gone for the majority of players, as several blamed Epic: “They won’t get added back… They were fun!” Others theorized the reasons: “Epic wants each Chapter to feel unique and independent from one another, so that’s why Augments aren’t in Chapter 5.” Trusted Fortnite leakers did find that Augment files had been placed back into the game’s files during Chapter 5, Season 1. Furthermore, Epic then featured them in a Milestone quest that season, stating it was “Coming soon,” and they could even be seen in the Augments section of the in-game Quests tab. But, Augments never actually arrived and there have been no signs from Epic since that suggest they will return to Fortnite anytime soon.

Atlantis Mitro and Atlantis Magin Win the $500K Fortnite ‘Summer Skirmish’ Week Three Day Two Duos Tournament – Recap, Highlights, and Final Placements – Dexerto
Atlantis Mitro and Atlantis Magin Win the $500K Fortnite ‘Summer Skirmish’ Week Three Day Two Duos Tournament – Recap, Highlights, and Final Placements Atlantis Mitro and Atlantis Magin have taken home the $60,000 first prize by winning Week Three Day Two of the Fortnite Summer Skirmish tournament. They were the first team to 13 points, thanks to Victory Royales in Matches 8 and 9. They were followed by Fwexy and Pate1k of Main with 12 points and Greyfox and Mouz Moeps finished third with 10. In order to best understand the recap of this tournament, make sure to brush up on the scoring format: The first Duos team to reach 13 points is the winner. Victory Royales and Eliminations in this competition will be scored to determine placement at the end of the event. The top 20 teams at the end of the Summer Skirmish will be awarded. Victory Royale: +4 Points 5 or more Eliminations: +2 Points Most Eliminations (per match): $6500 Much like yesterday, the matches were close and teams struggled to score points and pull away from the pack to get 13 points quickly. Those who got close to 13 would be hunted first in an attempt to extend the tournament. After six matches, Fwexy and Pate1k were on top with 10 points, but the field narrowed as points were hard to come by. Mitro and Magin hung around the top 5 with 6 points, though they did not score for a few matches. Ref7ection and H3X were the only team in the top 5 to score in match six, gaining two points to earn a three way tie for second place at 8 points. Nyx and Swayzen won match six and the four points were enough to launch them from the bottom of the standings to the top 10. Fwexy and Pate1k were frozen at 10 points for matches seven and eight, allowing Mitro and Magin to tie them for first after winning match 8. The ninth match was all they would need, grabbing another Victory Royale for back to back wins to hit 14 points. Match Results and Elimination Bonus Winners Final Top-20 Placements The Fortnite Summer Skirmish is an 8-week series of competitions where Epic Games will be awarding a total of $8 million in prize money. The competition features a variety of content creators, popular pro players, and top performers from previous in-game events. This $500K tournament was the second of two for this week’s ‘Summer Skirmish’ event; the first tournament took place on July 27 and was won by Showdown competitors Zayt and Saf.

Attack on Titan’s Mikasa & Levi skins are coming to Fortnite – Dexerto
Attack on Titan’s Mikasa & Levi skins are coming to Fortnite Epic GamesFortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is well underway, and Epic Games has recently confirmed Attack on Titan’s Mikasa and Captain Levi’s skin release in the Battle Royale. With the MEGA Season Battle Pass already revealing Eren Jaeger as the not-so-secret skin for Chapter 4 Season 2, an Attack on Titan collaboration was well and truly confirmed a long time ago. But it’s not just Eren who’ll be appearing in the game, as Epic Games have now confirmed that two more skins, based on Mikasa and Levi Ackerman from Attack on Titan, will be released in Fortnite very soon. The official Fortnite Twitter account confirmed that the new skins will arrive on April 11, 2023. They will most likely need to be purchased from the in-game Shop using V-Bucks, unlike Eren who appears in the Battle Pass. A trailer released by Epic showcases both Mikasa and Levi from the globally renowned anime series Attack on Titan jumping into the action on the Fortnite map. Given that the secret skin from the Battle Pass featuring Eren Jaeger will unlock on April 15, Mikasa and Levi’s release perfectly coincides with the hype surrounding Fortnite’s collab with Attack on Titan. Attack of Titan joins the ranks of popular anime franchises that have collaborated with Fortnite in the past such as Dragon Ball, Naruto, and My Hero Academia. All of these collaborations have had an impact on gameplay, too, with unique weapons such as the Kamehameha from Dragon Ball or explosive Kunai from Naruto available to find across the Island. It remains to be seen whether the Attack on Titan collaboration will have similar additions for the Battle Royale, but the trailer does appear to show the omni-directional mobility gear from the anime in action.

Asmongold loses it on stream after trying to play Fortnite: “I suck” – Dexerto
Asmongold loses it on stream after trying to play Fortnite: “I suck” Twitch: Asmongold, Epic GamesWhile he’s best known for his MMORPG streams, Twitch sensation Asmongold took to Fortnite’s ever-changing universe to try out Zero Build Mode – but it didn’t end very well. When you think of Asmongold your mind likely conjures up images of World of Warcraft or Lost Ark; not Epic Games’ classic battle royale, Fortnite. As streaming behemoths like Dr Disrespect and Tfue flock back to Fortnite title to try out the revolutionary Zero Build Mode, Asmon has found himself back in Epic’s BR and looking to pop some heads. Practice, however, makes perfect, and considering the Texan has barely touched the game, the odds were unfortunately not in his favor. Asmongold rages during Fortnite Zero Build stream Renowned for his cool and collected approach to slaying raid bosses or tearing apart swathes of enemies in dungeons, the FPS world is a very different place from Azeroth and Arkesia. Read More: xQc reclaims Twitch crown in March – Dropping into the hot zone of Tilted Towers, he attracts the attention of a player with a particularly nasty shotgun. “F**k he’s got a shotgun,” he exclaims, retreating into the back of the building. Met with a dead end, the player quickly corners him and, well, you can work out how it ends. Placing 63rd, he grabs a stick from his desk (why is it there? Nobody knows) and proceeds to pummel an unfortunate object off camera. Said victim explodes, sending its contents flying into the air and onto the floor. “Damn it!” Following the stream up with a tweet that simply reads “I suck at Fortnite lol,” other influencers offered to train him in the ways of Zero Build mode. “Let’s team together for Ludwig’s tourney,” offers 100 Thieves co-owner and streaming sensation, Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop, while Hasan ‘hasanabi’ Piker writes “me too king; keep your head up.” Will we see Asmon make an appearance at one of Ludwig’s tourneys? Or has his Zero Build experience cut his Fortnite adventure short? Either way, we really would rather someone confiscate that stick…

While they’ve recently made moves to expand into North America — namely by entering the U.S. stock market and acquiring NA Rainbow Six Siege team Disrupt — this makes it clear that they’re still committed to their home market, where they unveiled their own esports center, located in Copenhagen, not too long ago. Astralis’ first-ever Fortnite pro will debut in his blue-and-red jersey this weekend, playing in the Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) Grand Royale. Asmongold finally returning to Fortnite after Zero Build update – Dexerto
Asmongold finally returning to Fortnite after Zero Build update Asmongold, Instagram / Epic GamesFortnite has finally announced that its Zero Build feature is here to stay and the news has sent shockwaves across the Twitch community; so much so that Asmongold might be lining up a return. Epic Games made the call following an extremely positive response from the game’s community, which saw big names who used to be part of Fortnite Battle Royale’s streaming scene such as Ninja, Dr Disrespect, and Tfue dive back into the game. The news was posted to the developer’s blog on March 29, and a statement read: “Zero Build is a pure test of weapon, item, and traversal ability. Zero Build can be found on the Discover page as Solo, Duos, Trios, and Squads playlists.” Obviously, this attracted a number of high-profile comments in the replies. One of those people was Asmongold – who can usually be seen playing Lost Ark, World of Warcraft, and other MMORPG titles. Asmongold responds to Fortnite Zero Build update While Epic have clarified that Fortnite’s building mechanic had been temporarily disabled and was due to return at the end of March, Epic Games has decided to surprise everybody by making the major change permanent in their battle royale mode. In a tweet, they said: “No building, no problem! It’s all about your combat skills on the ground.” Asmongold responded soon after, announcing something that perhaps his viewers never saw coming in a million years… A return to Fortnite is on. He said: “Fu*k it, I think I’m gonna start playing Fortnite again.” TimTheTatman & DrLupo weigh in on Fortnite Zero Build update In another tweet, TimTheTatman posted: “YESSSIRRRRR” and DrLupo said “I love you” to the developers. Now, while this might be something of a surprise for Asmongold’s fans, the timing couldn’t be better for him to make such a move. The Build vs No Build debate has been a viral phenomenon since they removed the mechanic, with the game’s community divided and big streamers coming back to the map in droves. Whether or not it will just be a one-off stream or a more regular feature on his Twitch channel in the coming weeks remains to be seen, but the possibility of the latter possibly hinges on gameplay.

Artist who faked Fortnite Season 2 map ‘leaks’ explains why they did it – Dexerto
Artist who faked Fortnite Season 2 map ‘leaks’ explains why they did it u/KinaKingy, RedditFortnite players might have been expecting some of the most explosive map changes ever seen in the battle royale game following an apparent Season 2 leak, but it turns out that the whole thing was a hoax. Epic Games have confirmed that the next major update will roll out on February 20, the 11.50 patch, although there’s been little mention about what could be set to change when this first season – the longest in history – finally draws to a close. Just like any ordinary leak, false information spread like wildfire in the game’s community on January 26, featuring what was claimed to be a trailer image and a snapshot at map changes. Basically, it suggested Steamy Stacks was going to explode and impact several destinations in the process. However, the person who made the fake leak has come forward and explained not just how they did it, but why. As mentioned, there will have been a tremendous amount of time between the beginning of Chapter 2 and the start of Season 2 in the free-to-play game, which not only means the game’s developers have had free time to put together plans for new updates. But, clearly, members of the community have had time to make their concepts look like the real thing as well. Reddit user KinaKingy, who claims to be responsible for the material made in the apparent leak, shared a video on January 27 to show people that none of it was official material. A voice reader in the video said: “Hi, sorry if any of you guys thought this was real and will get disappointed by this. The leak was fake as a lot of people expected. Every image here is completely fake and made by editing images, 3D software, and more things.” The user stated that English is not their first language and, therefore, it was easier to speak using the voice reader instead. Anyway, the explanation of the “silly experiment” continued. “Of course, it was me. I have uploaded some 3D stuff like concepts and even map concepts that follow the same aesthetic to the supposed leaked one,” they said. “I made this for fun and just to see how people were going to react to another supposed leak of information.” KinaKingy rounded things off by advising fans to never set their hopes too high with leaked information and apologized if members of the community believed it was actually real. Many, however, were skeptical from the beginning. Once we have official details on the Chapter 2, Season 2 trailer for Fortnite, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Arsenal stars Ozil & Kolasinac stream Fortnite amid coronavirus delay – Dexerto
Arsenal stars Ozil & Kolasinac stream Fortnite amid coronavirus delay Wikimedia/Epic GamesArsenal players Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac have turned to streaming Fortnite alongside the former’s esports organization, as Coronavirus uncertainty clouds a return to Premier League football. March 12 saw the postponement of all professional football in the United Kingdom, with immediate effect. While the UK government initially announced that sport could continue as normal, the confirmation that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta had tested positive for coronavirus led to an immediate suspension of the Premier League and EFL. While they may not be playing football together, at least for the foreseeable future, Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac teamed up on March 14 for some Fortnite Battle Royale. The pair actually joined forces with professional player Berkay ‘Berki’ Sarioba, who represents M10 eSports – the organization owned by Mesut Ozil. M10 currently compete in both FIFA and Fortnite, boasting the recent acquisition of Duos World Cup winner ‘Nyhrox’ on their Fortnite roster. . @MesutOzil1088 x @M10Berki x @seadk6 https://t.co/FKBs7zT1rv — Berkay 〽️ (@M10Berki) March 14, 2020 Many athletes are taking an increasing interest in video games, emphasized by the establishment of esports organizations in their names. Another example is Rise Nation, whose co-founder is NFL star Rodger Saffold, as well as Real Madrid star Gareth Bale, who started esports org Ellevens in February. The Arsenal duo were carried by the professional players to a number of victories as they streamed on their respective channels. However, they didn’t disgrace themselves either, supplementing the M10 pros with a number of decent plays. Football and Fortnite fans were united to enjoy the pair’s streaming, despite the universal agreement that they’re not quite as good at Fortnite as they are football. With the Premier League’s return initially set for early April (dependent on the Coronavirus situation), we can expect to see the duo streaming together again in the near future.

Arkhram dominates DreamHack Open ft. Fortnite NA West: Final placements – Dexerto
Arkhram dominates DreamHack Open ft. Fortnite NA West: Final placements DreamHack[jwplayer t8tVUPFe]NA West Fortnite players got their chance to shine in the finals of their DreamHack Open event, however, 100 Thieves’ Arkhram scooped the top prize. Here’s how it shook out for others. With the vast majority of esports events now being held online until its safe to return to a LAN setting, Fortnite has continued chugging on. Cash Cups are still a regular thing but DreamHack raised the stakes. The tournament organizer hosted their first online-only Fortnite event with the start of the DreamHack Open events. NA East and European players have already had their moment in the spotlight with Team Liquid’s STRETCH and Teeq claiming solo wins in their respective regions. However, on July 26, NA West were given their shot at glory but it ultimately came down to a few recognizable names. Fortnite DreamHack Open NA West final standings 100 Thieves star Diego ‘Arkhram’ Lima came out on top in the NA West region finals, picking up a whopping 509 points. That huge points total came thanks to his consistent finishes inside the top ten, plus the game where he managed to pick up a victory royale. He also managed to pick up an average of 3.5 kills from his games – by far and away the best average inside the top five. Frapai and Team Liquid’s Cented managed to round out the top three, taking home $2,000 and $1,800. NRG’s EpikWhale, who is a consistent top finisher in NA West events, came in fourth. Further down the standings, Reverse2k, Fortnite World Cup champion Bugha, and NRG Clix all finished inside the money at 41, 56, and 57. Obviously, they didn’t manage to strike it as big as Arkhram and the other top finishers, but they didn’t go home empty-handed. All focus for competitive Fortnite is set to be on the upcoming FNCS event, where the top pros in the game will hope to big themselves even more cash from the comfort of their own homes.

Arhkram’s team wins Fortnite Ninja Battles Week 4: final placements – Dexerto
Arhkram’s team wins Fortnite Ninja Battles Week 4: final placements Epic GamesThe fourth week in Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins’ Fortnite competition has just come to a close and we’ve got you covered with everything needed to catch up on the action. $80,000 USD is on the line with each installment in Ninja’s huge Fortnite tournament. There are six individual weeks of competition all up. However, the latter half has been delayed significantly as the first event kicked off back in May. With action finally resuming and online play taking center stage yet again, week four was one of the most stacked weeks yet. 20 trios dropped into the battle royale on September 21 but only 12 walked away with money in their pockets. If you missed out on the event, fear not. We’ve got you covered with a full rundown on the results to get you up to speed. The single-day tournament was extremely competitive from the first lobby. All of the biggest names were present this time around as some of the most popular Fortnite players took to the field. Clix, Bizzle, Nate Hill, Bugha, benjyfishy, and MrSavage are just a few of the many names that filled out the star-studded lineup this week. Every trio was stacked with recognizable personalities from various organizations. Perhaps the biggest talking point this week is that Ninja allowed ZexRow back into his competition. Ariana Grande Fortnite skin leak trolls everyone on April Fool’s Day – Dexerto
Ariana Grande Fortnite skin leak trolls everyone on April Fool’s Day Twitter: D3nni_YTIs Ariana Grande getting her own skin in Fortnite? Not right now, although you could be forgiven for thinking so after prominent Fortnite leakers banded together to troll everyone with a new Icon Series ‘reveal’ on April Fool’s Day. The internet is not a safe space when it comes time for April Fool’s Day. From developers to pro players, everyone in the gaming industry seemingly loves to bamboozle fans around the world. The Fortnite community is no different. While Epic added an amusing cosmetic for the occasion, their April Fool’s gag paled in comparison to what spread later in the day. Instead of just one Fortnite leaker playing a prank on the community, most of the popular insiders decided to join forces for one ultimate troll. At the exact same time – right on the dot at 2:55 PM PT on April 1 – the biggest leakers all shared the same thing. A unique Ariana Grande skin was revealed across the board, with multiple variants convincing players it was real. “New Ariana Grande Set decrypted,” HYPEX tweeted alongside some original pictures. The format resembled that of any other leak you’d come to expect from the popular account. With each new update comes a handful of cosmetics that slip through the cracks. This fake bundle fell in line with what fans have come to expect over the years. One variant of the skin had the “ponytail popstar” in a pink outfit while the other had a purple visual instead. The ‘leaks’ outlined how Grande’s very own Fortnite skin was set to be part of the Icon Series set. Not only that, but it would be introduced properly in Chapter 2 Season 6. Historically, the Icon Series has dropped popular content creators into the game, rather than mainstream celebrities. If Grande was to receive her own skin, she’d be the first to buck that trend in the Icon Series. Outside of the skin itself, the April Fool’s gag was made to look even more realistic thanks to some accompanying items. Each variant of the skin came with its own ‘Dangerous Bunny’ Back Bling, only adding to the confusion. https://twitter.com/iFireMonkey/status/1377741328310796289 While the coordinated joke fooled players at first, it didn’t take long for players to check the calendar. Nothing announced on April 1 can be taken at face value, not even Fortnite leaks. For Grande fans, the popular celeb isn’t making the jump into Fortnite just yet. Though perhaps with enough fanfare, we might just see the pop singer in-game one day soon.

Are Planes coming back to Fortnite? – Dexerto
Are Planes coming back to Fortnite? Are planes making a return to Fortnite? Players are reporting seeing them despite them being vaulted at the start of Season 8. Epic Games vaulted planes at the start of Fortnite Season 8, much to the delight of members of the pro community. Planes never really ever felt like they belonged in the game as they were hard to counter and were able to deal massive damage to structures and players alike. A recent leak suggested planes would be returning to Fortnite at some point as sound files indicating their return have been found. The sound file in question is a sound that indicates your fuel in the plane is low. What’s interesting about this is that planes might have already found their way into the game with this enhancement. The above clip, from March 15, shows planes still existing in Fortnite and this one is even complete with a fuel gauge. There hasn’t been much else to indicate planes were returning outside of this clip and the leaked sound file. It’s hard to tell exactly what is going on but that clip is hard to deny. If planes do return to Fortnite they’d likely be met with a bunch of pushback. There weren’t many players that came out in support of the planes. With the Fortnite World Cup rapidly approaching, it just doesn’t seem like a good idea for Epic Games to introduce planes again. As for now, it’s a really confusing situation as we’re not sure if planes are coming back or not.

Are Rocket Launchers ruining Fortnite? – Dexerto
Are Rocket Launchers ruining Fortnite? Fans of Fortnite have taken aim at the game’s classic Rocket Launcher, claiming that the explosive weapon is ruining the battle royale title. The Rocket Launcher has been a mainstay of Fortnite since its release back in September 2018, giving players a way to deal quick explosive damage to opponents or destroy an enemy structure. But after the 7.20 Content Update for the game on January 22, fans of the game have complained that Rocket Launchers are spawning too frequently, and they’re constant use – especially in the early moments of a match – is destroying Fortnite. With the introduction of the Frostnitemares event, which saw Ice Legion zombies appear on the map to wreak havoc, it appears Epic Games adjusted the spawn rate to allow more Rocket Launchers to spawn in an effort to help players take down hordes of the undead. The influx of Rocket Launchers has frustrated players, and it seems now that almost everyone on the map ends up with one, meaning explosives are constantly raining down on players, dealing at least 110 damage points even when the player isn’t directly hit by the missile. Fortnite fans have called on Epic Games to lower the spawn rate of these weapons back to where they were before the Frostnitemares event began, while others have suggested that Rocket Launchers shouldn’t be found in chests or floor loot at all, but should only be available from Supply Drops. Whether Epic Games implements any of these changes remains to be seen, but a large number of Fortnite fans will be hoping that Rocket Launchers are addressed in the next Fortnite patch, likely to be released on Tuesday, January 29.

Are LEGO Fortnite sets coming soon? – Dexerto
Are LEGO Fortnite sets coming soon? Fortnite / LEGOWe’ve seen a great team-up with LEGO and Fortnite for their upcoming event, so will we see any LEGO Fortnite sets from the battle royale giant soon? The LEGO x Fortnite collaboration event is days away, and we have been extremely excited ever since LEGO has officially teased the crossover, leaving us with tons of giddy questions about what this upcoming event will contain. We’ll admit we didn’t see an appearance from Eminem coming. We’ll see an awesome new open-world game mode in the LEGO x Fortnite collaboration, new skins, new weapons, and even a class system for said game mode. But the question remains: Will we be getting any LEGO Fortnite sets in the future? Upcoming LEGO Fortnite sets Although there is no solid evidence that we’ll receive any LEGO Fortnite sets anytime soon, having a massive crossover event with LEGO and not making any sets is questionable. We’ve seen official renders of iconic skins in Fortnite recreated as LEGO minifigures, as seen on the LEGO Kids Fortnite page, so the chance of sets is still possible. Many ideas for LEGO Fortnite sets emerge from this official image alone. Specific character skins that are individually sold in a LEGO minifigure pack series, players fighting it out in iconic Fortnite locations such as Tilted Towers and a whole Battle Bus set! The possibilities are virtually endless. Keep up to date with the LEGO X Fortnite event and any updates about LEGO Fortnite sets by check out our LEGO Fortnite hub pages. The LEGO Fortnite event will start on December 7, 2023, we can’t wait either!

Aquaman villain trailer hints at Heavy AR returning in Fortnite Season 3 – Dexerto
Aquaman villain trailer hints at Heavy AR returning in Fortnite Season 3 Epic GamesEagle-eyed Fortnite fans think that the trailer for Black Mantra, the villain from DC’s Aquaman, might be hinting at the return of the popular Heavy Assault Rifle. If there’s one thing Fortnite fans have grown accustomed to, it’s ambitious cross overs with other cultural phenomenons. Both Aquaman and Black Manta finally dropped in Fortnite on July 16, with one as a Battle Pass exclusive and the other available in the Fortnite Item Shop. The trailers for both DC stars appeared to tease future updates to Fortnite. Aquaman’s reveal is heavily believed to have teased a new Atlantis POI, and Fortnite fans now believe they’ve found hints that a fan favorite weapon is set to return in Season 3. During the trailer, Black Manta and a group of Scuba Jonesys break into the Fishstick compound and begin to eliminate fish. One player, u/Raynedrop168, asked whether anyone else had noticed that an eliminated fish dropped a Heavy Assault Rifle. The Heavy Assault Rifle was first introduced with patch 6.22, and grew to be a common low-tier weapon in the later stages of Chapter One. While it was present in the very early stages of Chapter Two, it was vaulted in Patch 13.0, on June 17, 2020. However, the vaulting could be set to be reversed if the trailer is anything to go by. Fortnite players have grown accustomed to teasers and hints from Epic, as far back as Chapter One’s second season. Known for its heavy damage and moderate recoil, the Heavy Assault Rifle could deal masses of damage if fired accurately. Only time will tell if it’s on its way back in Season 3, but players will be excited by the possibility.

Are Epic Games really bringing back custom resolutions to Fortnite? – Dexerto
Are Epic Games really bringing back custom resolutions to Fortnite? Epic GamesIt appears that Epic Games are planning to bring stretched resolutions back to Fortnite in a future update, according to an email that was allegedly sent by their customer service team to a fan of the game. Custom resolutions have been a highly requested feature in Fortnite for some time, stemming from Epic Games’ original decision to remove them from the game entirely and force people to play on the default screen settings. This caused an uproar among the community, with many annoyed that they would have to readjust to playing on a resolution that they felt hindered their gameplay, as stretched resolution allowed players to see more of their surroundings. Players have complained that the native resolution doesn’t give players a wide enough field-of-view in the game, with streamers like Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek even stating that the default settings “hurt [his] eyes.” It appears that there might be good news for those who would love to be able to change their screen resolutions, thanks to an email that was apparently sent by Epic Games customer service to a fan of the popular battle royale title. Reddit user SamuelGColt posted a screenshot of a conversation between himself and what appears to be an Epic representative, in which he complains that playing on the native screen settings is “sickening.” In response, the apparent Epic Games employee responds asking him to be patient, mentioning a setting to change screen resolution that is coming in a future update. “We suggest that you wait until the update for the custom resolution on PC is enabled,” the response states. “Your patience is highly appreciated.” Fans of the game were immediately excited at the prospect, but it’s worth taking this email with a grain of salt. The legitimacy of the correspondence cannot be confirmed, while it’s entirely possible that the customer service representative has no idea about upcoming features, and may have made an error by stating custom resolutions were on their way. The fact that they told the Reddit user to wait until it’s enabled does suggest that it’s ready to go though, so perhaps there is still hope for Fortnite fans. We won’t know until Epic Games officially confirm it themselves, with no apparent schedule for it’s addition to the game mentioned in the email.

Aquaman villain Black Manta arrives in Fortnite ahead of Atlantis reveal – Dexerto
Aquaman villain Black Manta arrives in Fortnite ahead of Atlantis reveal Epic GamesAquaman’s Black Manta villain has finally arrived in Fortnite ahead of the supposed arrival of an Atlantis-themed point of interest. As the hype for Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 3 got underway, it had been leaked that Aquaman would be replacing Deadpool as the Battle Pass secret skin. The DC character, who has been released into Fortnite with the more recent look, fits perfectly with the water and ‘Splash Down’ theme. With Epic Games dropping updates for the season, leakers have been able to get their hands on additional information about extra Aquaman-themed content dropping into Fortnite. The main one has centered around a point of interest appearing in the northwest portion of the map, with some fans speculating that it will be themed on Atlantis – the mythical underwater city that is Aquaman’s home. On top of that, though, Epic Games have added further fuel to the fire by releasing a skin for Aquaman’s arch-enemy – Black Manta. The DC Comic villain, whose alter ego is typically David Hyde, has been battling with Aquaman pretty much since the superhero was first introduced. In the modern movie, where Jason Momoa plays the hero, Black Manta is depicted as a treasure-hunting pirate and ruthless high-seas mercenary with an interest in technology. The all-new Fortnite skin takes inspiration from the live-action movie with the high-tech black suit, red eyes, and jet pack-like backpack is available for 1500 V-Bucks. There is also a harvesting tool, Manta Blades, available for 800 V-Bucks. Black Manta gets the full dastardly villain treatment with his introductory trailer, seemingly hinting at a battle with Aquaman being in the works. Again, some fans believe that would happen at the new location that already been leaked. Leakers have also noted that the water level is set to lower across the Fortnite map on July 18, so we should be in for another set of small map changes. We’ll just have to wait and see what Epic has in store.

Apple ‘wins’ Fortnite lawsuit against Epic, but must reform in-app purchases policy – Dexerto
Apple ‘wins’ Fortnite lawsuit against Epic, but must reform in-app purchases policy Epic Games / AppleApple might have won their Fortnite lawsuit against Epic Games on paper, but it came at a big cost. The publisher must reform its in-app purchase policy, giving developers more power on the platform. Epic Games and Apple have been locking horns in the courtroom for over a year. The creators of Fortnite challenged the tech giant’s restrictions on apps having payment options beyond those offered on the App Store. They hoped to avoid the 30% revenue cut that Apple takes on each purchase made in the App Store. The bitter feud could be coming to an end though. While Apple might have ‘won’ the case, Epic’s lawsuit will lead to big reforms in the industry. Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers found Epic in breach of their contract with Apple after they implemented their own in-app purchases system, forcing the developer to pay back 30% of their revenue. However, Rogers also issued a permanent injunction that imposes new restrictions on Apple’s App Store rules. Essentially, all apps must allow developers to direct users to alternative payment options. The injunction will be in effect on December 9 unless challenged and overruled in a higher court. It’s the most significant ruling from the lawsuit and is considered to be a huge win for developers moving forward. However, as mentioned above, the court also ruled that Epic Games breached their contract with Apple when they implemented their own payment system in the Fortnite app. They’ll need to pay Apple around $3.5 million in losses. The fight isn’t over yet though. Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney claimed the ruling “isn’t a win for developers or for consumers” and vowed to “keep fighting.” Read More: Fortnite returning to iOS in Korea – He said Fortnite will only return to the iOS App Store “when Epic can offer in-app payment in fair competition with Apple,” which he believes isn’t the case.

Apple needs to admit defeat over Fortnite if they’re serious about gaming – Dexerto
Apple needs to admit defeat over Fortnite if they’re serious about gaming Epic Games/AppleTo fulfill its vision for the future of gaming, Apple needs to admit defeat over Fortnite and bring it back to iOS. But the question is, why? Here’s our opinion. In the dynamic world of technology, Apple is facing a turning point in the gaming business. Apple needs to fill a gap in its ecosystem by re-adding Fortnite, a popular battle royale game that was removed in early 2020. The reason behind the game’s removal was a disagreement between Apple and Epic Games, the makers of Fortnite. Epic Games boldly challenged Apple’s in-app purchase monopoly, claiming that the 30% commission Apple collects was anti-competitive. As a result, the two companies went to war, with Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney taking to social media in the hope of exposing what he believed was Apple’s wrongdoing. Now, Epic has announced that they have lost the battle to have Fortnite reintroduced to iOS in the US after the US Supreme Court rejected appeals from both sides. Meanwhile, in the EU, developers can now sideload apps as well as their digital store onto the platform — as long as they pay Apple a commission — thanks to the new DMA legislation in Europe. Consequently, Epic teased the future return of Fortnite in Europe while also mocking Apple. That said, even though Apple is winning the legal battle, we have to wonder if it is digging its own grave for the future of gaming on Mac and iOS devices. When Apple first took a bite of Fortnite With Fortnite’s iOS release in March 2018, Epic Games took a risk by taking the game outside of its usual gaming platform. The strategic choice to reach out to the vast iOS user base was met with immediate enthusiasm, as millions of gamers eagerly anticipated the opportunity to enjoy the battle royale phenomenon on their iOS devices. An analysis by SensorTower found that the game made $300 million in the first 200 days it was available on iOS, suggesting that Apple pocketed a large chunk of that money. Also, during the first month of the game’s release exclusively for iPhones, players spent a total of $1 million daily, according to Business Insider, which caused a surge in interest among iPhone gamers. Considering how much money the game was making for Apple then, it’s surprising that the decision was made to remove the game from the app store. The Apple falls off the gaming tree Apple has inadvertently placed itself at a competitive disadvantage in the gaming industry by removing Fortnite. Apple is forgoing the financial gains and user base that these games generate, whereas other platforms continue to provide Fortnite and comparable popular titles. The existing competitive void may have repercussions on Apple’s reputation as a gaming platform, particularly given the growing trend among gamers to seek entertainment on alternative platforms. Additionally, the Fortnite saga has contributed to Apple’s erosion of credibility within the gaming community. Both developers and enthusiasts are raising concerns regarding Apple’s dedication to cultivating a vibrant gaming ecosystem. The gaming community has become increasingly disillusioned by the perception that Apple’s policies are motivated more by financial gain than by the best interests of developers and gamers. How Fortnite’s return can nurture Apple’s gaming ambitions Gaming has evolved into a booming industry that brings in billions of dollars annually, moving beyond its original status as an entertainment medium. Given its large user base and superior hardware, Apple might easily become the gaming industry’s undisputed leader. To be successful, though, it needs to recognize the impact of games like Fortnite, which has gone beyond being just a video game and into the realm of popular culture. Its extensive popularity is attributable, in part, to its frequent updates, cross-platform play, and active community. In addition to the obvious benefits, bringing Fortnite back to iOS is in line with Apple’s strategy for the future of the gaming industry. Thanks to its dedication to unique, high-quality games, Apple has made great strides with its Arcade service. By incorporating Fortnite into this ecosystem, Apple can strengthen its status as a gaming giant and pave the way for future partnerships and collaborations. Both companies would generate enough money to survive in a market that is rapidly shifting towards portable gaming, even though sideloading games would cost Epic Games more than what they were losing with the 30% revenue split on the App Store. Epic Games and Apple’s user communities are at odds over the tech giants’ respective priorities. Still, they both want the game back so Apple can start its gaming journey instead of releasing AAA single-player games like Death Stranding.

Apple to terminate Epic Games iOS & Mac dev access amid Fortnite lawsuit – Dexerto
Apple to terminate Epic Games iOS & Mac dev access amid Fortnite lawsuit Epic GamesThe latest salvo by Apple in Epic Games’ lawsuit over the removal of Fortnite from their App Store could end up affecting a ton of developers who rely on the Unreal Engine, as the tech giant prepares to ban Epic’s developer accounts on iOS and Mac at the end of August. On August 13, Epic dropped lawsuits on both Google and Apple for removing Fortnite from their respective app stores, because of Epic’s decision to give players the option to essentially cut out the middle man and pay for V-Bucks directly through the app, rather than include Apple or Google’s stores. Removing the game from the App Store only seems to have been phase one of Apple’s battle plan though, as they’ve informed Epic that they’ll be removing the publisher’s developer accounts and make certain development tools unavailable. On August 17, Epic Games tweeted that they had been informed that “on Friday, August 28 Apple will terminate all our developer accounts and cut Epic off from iOS and Mac development tools. We are asking the court to stop this retaliation.” Apple removed Fortnite from the App Store and has informed Epic that on Friday, August 28 Apple will terminate all our developer accounts and cut Epic off from iOS and Mac development tools. We are asking the court to stop this retaliation. Details here: https://t.co/3br1EHmyd8 — Epic Games Newsroom (@EpicNewsroom) August 17, 2020 In the court documents linked to by Epic, they argue that “Apple’s actions will irreparably damage Epic’s reputation among Fortnite users and be catastrophic for the future of the separate Unreal Engine business.” Basically Apple will be shutting off Epic’s developer accounts, and the company claims they cannot support Unreal on iOS without dev tools and access, which makes the future of the game engine on all Apple devices very uncertain. “Apple specifically stated it would terminate Epic’s access to development tools,” the document states. “Including those necessary for Epic to keep offering the world’s most popular graphics engine, the Unreal Engine.” If Epic, who owns and operates the Unreal Engine, are unable to provide regular updates for the engine, developers will most likely start looking for another one that’s able to actually be supported on the iOS store, one of the most popular app vendors on the planet. It remains to be seen if the court will allow Apple to actually ban Epic’s dev accounts and leave Unreal Engine basically dead in the water on iOS, or how this latest twist will affect the overall lawsuit, so stick with Dexerto for all the latest developments on this story as they happen.

Apple fires back at Epic Games, claims CEO wanted Fortnite “special deal” – Dexerto
Apple fires back at Epic Games, claims CEO wanted Fortnite “special deal” Epic Games[jwplayer dDOO1bSy]The legal saga between Epic Games and Apple is far from over, as the California-based company has fired back at Epic’s litigation and Fortnite PR campaign with claims that CEO Tim Sweeney wanted a “special deal” for his company specifically. On August 13, Epic Games offered a direct payment option in Fortnite on iOS, circumventing Apple’s payment commissions and subsequently leading to the game’s deletion from the App Store on the basis of a breached contract. Epic responded by launching a lawsuit and massive PR campaign against Apple, grounded in a “1984” parody suggesting monopolistic, repressive behavior on the tech giant’s behalf. https://twitter.com/alexsalvinews/status/1294179051490271233 In response to critics who believed that Epic’s move was simply self-serving and a billionaire company’s effort to circumvent Apple’s commission rates, Sweeney released a series of Tweets in which he argued that this fight was taken up for altruistic means. In one of his statements, he cemented that logic and confirmed the symbolism of Fortnite’s in-game Orwellian video by explaining that “the fight isn’t over Epic wanting a special deal, it’s about the basic freedoms of all consumers and developers.” Another argument against supporting #FreeFortnite is “”this is just a billion dollar company fighting a trillion dollar company about money””. But the fight isn’t over Epic wanting a special deal, it’s about the basic freedoms of all consumers and developers. — Tim Sweeney (@TimSweeneyEpic) August 14, 2020 But on August 21, Apple’s legal team has both taken aim at Epic Games’ lawsuit and, in doing so, revealed that correspondences suggest Sweeney sought a privileged arrangement for his company. In the document, the company’s attorneys reveal that “Epic also does not seek a return to the status quo. As its own correspondence with Apple makes clear, it seeks an exception to Apple’s policies.” This is then furthered by a dispensation from Apple executive, Phil Schiller, who recounts that Sweeney emails requested “a special deal for only Epic.” According to Apple’s attorneys, this “special deal” referred to a separate “competing Epic Games Store app through the App Store” that would enable consumers to install and purchase apps from Epic instead of through Apple. Apple’s statement is misleading. You can read my email in Apple’s filing, which is publicly available. I specifically said in Epic’s request to the Apple execs, “”We hope that Apple will also make these options equally available to all iOS developers…”” https://t.co/yRio08fPSy pic.twitter.com/HsqjApFQeo — Tim Sweeney (@TimSweeneyEpic) August 21, 2020 In response to these accusations of desiring preferential treatment, Sweeney has released the full email’s transcript. In it, he expands that “we hope that Apple will also make these options equally available to all iOS developers.” This rebuttal is in direct contradiction of Apple’s allegations. As the tech giant’s legal team explains in its document, “if Epic’s scheme succeeds, 1.7 million other developers will be eligible to make the same argument.” It appears that was Sweeney and Epic’s intention, as transcripts indicate the desire to extend this treatment to other developers. Those intentions may not matter in court, but they will be relevant to public sentiment. The saga continues.

Another Sword weapon is coming to Fortnite according to leaks – Dexerto
Another Sword weapon is coming to Fortnite according to leaks Data miners have uncovered a new weapon coming to Fortnite Battle Royale that will surprise players, as yet another sword is set to be added to the game, less than a month after the ‘Infinity Blade’ madness. Earlier in Fortnite’s Season 7, Epic Games added an ‘Infinity Blade’ to the game, an extremely powerful weapon, that only one player on the map could wield. Due to the sheer power of the weapon, which granted players double health and regained health per every successful hit, the community was in outrage, eventually causing developers Epic Games to remove the weapon entirely, and apologize. At the time, Epic said they would ‘reconsider’ how they implemented these so called ‘mythic’ weapons in the game, and there haven’t been any since, but that looks like it is about to change. More: Leaked Fortnite skins and cosmetics found in the v7.20 patch files – Ice Queen, Cobalt, Malcore and more! – Following the major v7.20 update, data miners have found a ‘medieval sword’ in the game files, and it is in fact a weapon, rather than simply a pickaxe skin as some initially believed. How exactly it will be implemented cannot be determined from the leaks, but fans will be hoping it is not anything like the infamous Infinity Blade – or, if it is, that it’s placed in its own separate mode, and not placed in regular matchmaking. It’s not the Infinity Blade, it’s a “”normal”” sword, which appears to be a weapon, not a Pickaxe. pic.twitter.com/TWpLMzEhxC — Sr DraBx (@srdrabx) January 15, 2019 Update: Another Fortnite data miner has now uncovered the sound files for the sword too – check them out in the clip below. NEW LEAK: Medieval Sword Sound Files pic.twitter.com/1RgABjSiFp— Trix – Fortnite Leaks (@TrixLeaks) January 15, 2019 The leaker has also confirmed that the sword is definitely intended for the battle royale portion of Fortnite, not for Save the World. The sword was also spotted in the Marshmello music video which was found in the Fortnite game files too, where a mix of Marshmello’s songs play with some visualizer effects. There is also a possible connection to the hints that have some fans wondering if there will be a Fortnite and Game of Thrones crossover, with the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones coming out in April 2019. This sword could be possibly yet another clue. We will have to wait for an official announcement from Epic Games, regarding if/when the sword will be available in game, and how exactly it will be implemented.

ANOTHER major nerf is coming to Mounted Turret in Fortnite – Dexerto
ANOTHER major nerf is coming to Mounted Turret in Fortnite For the third time in a week, Epic Games are releasing another update for the Mounted Turret item in Fortnite Battle Royale. A tweet posted by Eric Williamson, Design Lead for Fortnite BR at Epic Games, reveals that a hotfix has been rolled out that makes the Mounted Turret overheat faster and have a reduced headshot multiplier. In addition, the 6.31 client update will also adjust collision volume to make it easier to hit players sitting in the turret from the front. The tweet does not clarify whether these changes will apply to all modes, or just the default Solos, Duos, and Squads modes. Previous updates to the Mounted Turret have been applied to only default modes, leaving the Turrets in Playground and other Limited Time Modes unaffected. Some adjustments to Mounted Turret coming in a hotfix: it will overheat a little faster and have a reduced headshot multiplier. 6.31 client update will adjust collision volume making it easier to hit players from the front. — Eric Williamson (@erwil9) November 20, 2018 The aspects of the Mounted Turret addressed in this hotfix have all been concerns for the players since the item was first introduced in Fortnite last week, via the v6.30 patch update. Many have complained about these very issues and expressed that Turret is too overpowered and makes the game less enjoyable to play, which is partly why some are calling last week’s update the worst in recent months. Epic reduced the structural integrity of the item, especially its floor, making it less difficult to destroy.Just days later, a hotfix was rolled out that reduced the availability of the Turret in default modes, meaning that players now come across it less frequently than before. It’s clear that Epic are in full damage control with this item, and it may not be too long until we see it vaulted for good.

Another Mysterious Portal Has Appeared in Fortnite and It’s Destroying the Motel – Dexerto
Another Mysterious Portal Has Appeared in Fortnite and It’s Destroying the Motel Another mysterious portal has been discovered following Fortnite Battle Royale’s rocket launch event on July 1st, this time at the Motel near Anarchy Acres. Speculation about the imminent launch of the Fortnite’s rocket, which was situated in the villain’s base, eventually proved true on June 30th when it finally shot into the night sky. The launch event created almost as many questions as it answered, though, as it seemed to be teleporting from place to place, created portals, and even left a gigantic crack in the sky. One of the first portals to be discovered was just outside of Lonely Lodge and it quickly expanded to destroy the “Lonely Lodge” sign entirely. Read More: Final Season 4 Challenges for Week 10 in Fortnite Leaked – Skydiving, Movie Titles and More – But it looks like Lonely Lodge is only the start of the destruction as another small portal has now been discovered at the Motel to the West of Anarchy Acres. Much like the Lonely Lodge portal, this strange breach has started small but is already beginning to grow next to the “Motel” sign and is likely to start looking more like the crack in the sky very soon. One of the most popular theories about the portals is that they represent a crack in space and time and that they will eventually devour the current map and change it entirely. Fans of this theory believe that this will mean that Season 5, which is due to start on July 12th, will take place some time in the distant past or future. With the recent confirmation of Fortnite’s all-new “Drum Gun”, which seems to be based off of the prohibition era Thompson submachine gun, some form of time travel does seem to be a possibility.

Another Fortnitemares bug is preventing players from completing the Fortnite Halloween challenges [UPDATED] – Dexerto
Another Fortnitemares bug is preventing players from completing the Fortnite Halloween challenges [UPDATED] UPDATE: Epic Games have released a fix for the issue. Players simply need to restart the client and they’ll be able to finish up the challenges! We’ve released a fix for the following Fortnitemares Challenge: Part 4 – Complete Fortnitemares challenges. You may need to restart your client to receive credit. Dive in and complete those Challenges! — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) October 30, 2018 It would appear that the ongoing Fortnitemares event in Fortnite Battle Royale has encountered another issue with the release of the Part 4 challenges. The fourth and final set of challenges for Fortnite’s Halloween event went live on October 30 and looked to be fairly straightforward as most concentrated on dealing damage to Cube Monsters or Cube Fragments. The final challenge in the list asks players to ‘Complete Fortnitemares challenges’ and the only way to get past it is to have completed every single task from the four sets of challenges that have been released. Once you’ve done that, you’ll earn the Dark Engine glider, an item of epic rarity that will be exclusive to players that have completed Fortnitemares 2018 and unavailable for purchase. Unfortunately, there seems to be a bug affecting the chances of any players getting this final task out of the way quickly, as it doesn’t seem to be counting the completed challenges from Parts 1, 2 or 3 at the moment, as shown by ‘Flabber-gast’ on Reddit. Unfortunately this is isn’t the first glitch to affect the Fortnitemares challenges – a bug in Part 3 allowed players to rack up a staggering 350 Battle Stars for free, and Epic Games allowed players to keep them because it was their own mistake! “We have just released a fix for some of the Part 3 Fortnitemares challenges that were granting Battle Stars instead of XP. Please be aware, the UI will still show the reward as Battle Stars until the next update. This was our goof and you will keep everything you’ve already earned,” they explained after releasing a fix. That particular glitch wasn’t live for very long, so there’s a good chance that this bug that stops you getting your Dark Engine glider will also be fixed nice and quickly!

Another Fortnite skin has been leaked following the V6.20 update – Dexerto
Another Fortnite skin has been leaked following the V6.20 update Data miners have struck once again as yet another Fortnite skin has been dug up ahead of its official release into the game. As is the case with every major Fortnite update, a long list of skins and other cosmetic items were leaked when the V6.20 update dropped on October 24. It looks like those skins aren’t all that Fortnite fans have to look forward to, though, as one more skin has been discovered in the game files by Blackopbeast34. The skin, called ‘Bunnymoon,’ was originally found in Wednesday’s update, but only the name was discovered at the time. Thanks to Blackopbeast34, however, we’ve now got the skin in its full glory, bunny ears and all. Bunnymoon (Uncommon) Who are you supposed to be again? The skin looks to follow in line with the Halloween theme of the previously leaked skins that were found earlier this week. While there’s no word on when this Uncommon Skin will be hitting Fortnite’s Item Shop, fans are anticipating that it could show up in the Shop as soon as October 26 which would be just in time for Halloween. As always, there’s no official confirmation from Epic Games on whether these leaks are real, but the items are expected to show up in the Shop at some point. While you wait for the skin to finally pop up in the store, you can get a head start on this week’s challenge with the full guide here.

For a recap of how Epic reached these point totals, the scoring system is listed below. The player with the highest score after 10 Solo matches will be named the winner. He was in the top 5 for most of the afternoon thanks to an unbelievable 35 kill performance in his third game. Back to back 21 kill games shortly after put KamoLRF in contention for first place and he was able to outlast a strong finish from Vato. The Fortnite Summer Skirmish is an 8-week series of competitions where Epic Games will be awarding a total of $8 million in prize money. The competition features a variety of content creators, popular pro players, and top performers from previous in-game events. Another Fortnite FNCS team disqualified after insulting opponents – Dexerto
Another Fortnite FNCS team disqualified after insulting opponents Epic Games / Luminox EsportsAnother Fortnite trio has been eliminated from the FNCS campaign ahead of the Finals weekend, this time for sending harsh words to fellow competitors. Luminox Esports’ trio of 97Default, Freemok3, and Wulfee5 have all been DQ’d shortly after one of the teammates sent a scathing tweet to another FNCS trio. 97Default got heat from the Fortnite community after sending expletives towards Fortnite players K1nzell, wak1e, and IDrop. It didn’t take long for Epic Games to respond to the incident with a ban. Previously, players banned for this type of behavior went against FNCS competitive rule 8.1.2 in which “players must be respectful of other players, Event Administrators, spectators, and sponsors.” Yet another Fortnite trio have all been disqualified from FNCS following what one player decided to say to competitors in the event 97Default and his teammates were DQ’d for this pic.twitter.com/1KzkJ8rCF4 — Jake Lucky (@JakeSucky) May 29, 2021 The decision came hours before the start of the Finals stage as Luminox was even getting hyped to field their players throughout the weekend. In light of the ban, 97Default apologized for his outburst and said that he’s been working on his anger management in recent months. “I am sorry to accept that I will be disqualified from a tournament that we have been working on for so long,” 97Default said. “I apologize for all the words I said to the players. I hope everyone understands the pressure that players who are playing for the first time in the FNCS Finals feel.” The other two members of the trio also expressed regret after they were disqualified from the final days of the FNCS season. In the past few weeks, FNCS trios have been disqualified for similar outbursts aimed at competitors and even the director of Fortnite himself. The decision against 97Default and his team is the latest in a growing list of disqualified teams for toxic words and behavior from FNCS competitors. A player who goes by ‘Wrigley’ recently told the Chief Creative Officer at Epic Games, Donald Mustard, to “kill himself.” A week later, another player by the name of ‘paper’ was toxic to an opposing FNCS trio. Both players, along with their teams, were disqualified from the circuit for their actions.

Another Fortnite Addiction Program Set to Air in Australia, Featuring Concerned Parents – “I’ve Been Headbutted, I’ve had a Concussion” – Dexerto
Another Fortnite Addiction Program Set to Air in Australia, Featuring Concerned Parents – “I’ve Been Headbutted, I’ve had a Concussion” 60 Minutes – The Sun, Fortnite – Epic GamesA mother from Sydney, Australia, has come forward to share a story about her ‘Fortnite-addicted’ son, who she says headbutted her for trying to stop him from playing. Fortnite has come under fire again in a video from Australia’s 60 Minutes, where a concerned mother spoke out about her son’s addiction to the battle-royale title. In the video, she states that her son physically retaliated to her attempts to get him to stop playing, and admitted that she was ‘frightened’ of her child. The show’s host likewise revealed that her son had been truant from classes for two years. The video also teased that video game addiction can cause ‘irreversible brain changes,’ and was paired with clips of the son in question stating that he missed his friends outside of the game. “I kind of miss having, like, friends, but I’ve got friends online.” The segment was advertised as a health warning, encouraging parents to take notice of their children’s video game habits. The video follows the World Health Organization’s classification of video game addiction as a legitimate disease, under the name “Gaming Disorder.” The disease’s symptoms include “impaired control over gaming, increasing priority given to gaming over other activities to the extent that gaming takes precedence over other interests and daily activities, and continuation or escalation of gaming despite the occurrence of negative consequences.” Fortnite has been at the center of multiple controversies, including news of a girl entering rehab for her addiction to the game. The NHL has likewise cracked down on its players for posting about Fortnite on social media, citing that too much gaming takes away from valuable practice time. While many gaming pros and personalities have spoken out about the benefits of video games, negative news continues to circle the topic, inciting a heated conversation throughout the world.

Another Fortnite exploit lets players easily build through walls – Dexerto
Another Fortnite exploit lets players easily build through walls Epic GamesFortnite Battle Royale players have discovered another way of building through walls very smoothly, which will be bad news for Epic Games who have patched a similar issue in Season 2 already. The thing that makes Fortnite different from other battle royale games is the ability to build, that much is clear, allowing players to put together structures of their own to protect themselves or travel from place to place. By the same token, one thing that BR games can’t escape from is the odd bug from time to time, which makes features work not as they were intended. In Fortnite Season 2, fans have discovered yet another problem with the mechanic and some are exploiting it. Previously, players have found ways that allow you to build through walls but it’s always been quite clunky to do and to watch. However, one reddit user – FKmasku – has showcased a much smoother way of making it happen that may be concerning for members of the community. For those who aren’t aware, with this bug in place, it means that by placing one or two different structures, you are able to indirectly remove the roof on a build. As seen in the short clip below, using this exploit allows a player to escape situations where really they should be forced to break part of the structure with a pickaxe or with bullets. Has there been anything like this before? Methods that have gained serious traction on social media in the past include that of ganno45, who showed that by weakening a wall, look in the direction and place a ramp in the opponent’s box, it would allow you to build through the targeted wall. This type of strategy isn’t new information for many players, but how smooth the steps are in the previous clip from FKmasku might be a concern for some members of the community that it’s becoming easier to do. The developers have already patched some bugs in Season 2, including issues with aim assist issues and editing, although this particular problem hasn’t made it onto their official Trello board just yet, which suggests a hotfix isn’t imminent. We’ll keep you updated if things change. Whether or not Epic Games will take action to prevent this exploit from being used in the future, or becoming a much more popular tactic, remains to be seen.

Android users will soon be able to play Fortnite Mobile at 60 FPS – Dexerto
Android users will soon be able to play Fortnite Mobile at 60 FPS Epic GamesEpic Games have provided an update on its plans to bring an option to play Fortnite Mobile at 60 frames per second on high-end devices. Currently, only specific iOS devices have the option to upgrade to 60 FPS, but the company is working on Android optimizations with phone manufacturers that they hope will bring higher frame rates. In a quick update released on December 3, Epic Games gave their AndroidOS players a much sought after announcement that 60 FPS was on the way. Epic Games recently launched the feature to the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR with optimization to the iPad Pro due in an upcoming patch. The Fortnite Team is working to create a fluid experience with these kinds of updates, so as to make the change an improvement rather than a hindrance. “We’ve gone through extensive tests to make sure the game can maintain such high frame-rates for a number of matches without overheating or deteriorating the overall experience over the course of a match,” the Fortnite Team said. “High frame rates are great, but if it’s only for a few minutes it doesn’t make a lot of sense.” Android users can expect to have these updates on new flagships, as the company only described “certain high-end Android devices” will get the feature. The company noted that playing in 60 FPS will drain phone batteries quicker, so the default setting will stay at 30 FPS leaving users to change it at will. Read more: Fortnite: NICKMERCS shows what console players are capable of with impressive Pop-Up Cup clutch – The company still isn’t committed to a timeline for the launch of 60 FPS on Android but will give further updates as more breakthroughs are made.

Fortnite: Second bugged location is killing players instantly – Dexerto
Fortnite: Second bugged location is killing players instantly Whos Chaos / YouTubeThe number of deadly bugged locations seems to be stacking up in Fortnite Season 8, as some players have found another place where they’re being instantly eliminated from the game – The Block. Epic Games have already warned players against dropping at a spot near Fatal Fields called ‘Fork Knife,’ after the game’s online community complained about being kicked out of sessions after landing there. Now, though, there seems to be another destination in the battle royale mode that’s causing players problems. A video, which was posted to the Fortnite subreddit by user SlevinVega, seems to show yet another place on the map that many players will want to avoid in their search for a win. “Second insta death spot found,” the redditor declared. “[It was] first discovered while in the new tournament mode and verified after.” The spot seems to be in a “divot” in the grass near The Block, as seen above. Once the player moves into a crouching position and approaches the wall, they’re eliminated from the game. While this might not be as big an issue as Fork Knife, it could potentially cost players their chance of going on to win. Epic have revealed plans to introduced a fix for the Fork Knife issues, but the developer is yet to respond to the thread on Reddit and there’s nothing to suggest – at this stage – that a fix for this new insta-kill bug is in the works. Read More: How to find secret Fortnite Banner for Week 2 Season 8 Discovery challenge – Battle Star replaced – Some fans have joked that The Block could be “temporarily disabled” from Fortnite in the meantime, but that’s not very likely. An Invisible One Way Wall Glitch is Causing Major Issues in Fortnite Battle Royale – Dexerto
An Invisible One Way Wall Glitch is Causing Major Issues in Fortnite Battle Royale Some Fortnite Battle Royale players have been experiencing a strange “invisible wall” glitch since the release of Season 5. The major V5.0 patch introduced Season 5 along with numerous major changes to the map, a new All Terrain Kart, various weapon balance changes and much more. However, one addition to the game that seems to have been entirely accidental is the strange new invisible wall glitch that a number of players have fallen foul of since Season 5 started. One Reddit user, PetiteBitte14, shared a video of an invisible wall in action, saying that it had happened to him “a few times since Season 5 came out”. Read More: TSM’s Myth on the Fortnite Summer Skirmish Invites: “I don’t actually expect to get invited every weekend” – The video shows him attempting to attack a player through a gap in a roof in Retail Row but his bullets not connecting. Even after using his pickaxe to destroy a section of the wall, he is still unable to connect on the opponent but they are able to shoot him: Epic Games’ Sean ‘MrPopoTFS’ Hamilton was quick to respond to the Reddit thread, asking players to report this as a bug if it happens to them again. To do so, you should select the “Feedback” button and label it as a bug with the title “Invisible Wall”. You should then include information on where it happened. More information about the bug, and any progress made by Epic Games towards fixing it, can be found on the Community Issues Board where it is titled “Bullets blocked by invisible collision and not doing damage to enemies in certain areas.” It is currently uncertain whether this issue is only affecting some players or is a problem with the map itself and, therefore, something that occurs in the same spot every time.

An All-New Stink Bomb is Coming to Fortnite Battle Royale – Dexerto
An All-New Stink Bomb is Coming to Fortnite Battle Royale A new item is coming to Fortnite Battle Royale as a new in-game news bulletin has confirmed that the “Stink Bomb” will be added soon. Fortnite Battle Royale has taken the world by storm since its initial release in September of 2017, but for anyone that has been around since the start, it’s almost unrecognizable. This isn’t because of major graphics overhauls or changes to the map (though these have also had an effect), but because of the constantly evolving meta and style of play. The meta changes on such a regular basis due to Epic’s decision to release new items, weapons, balance changes, and more with virtually every update. While there have certainly been some questionable changes, and some outright failures, the majority of these changes and new items have been well received and the developers are always reassessing them. One item that has been teased by data miners since the start of June has been the “Stink Bomb”, and a new in-game news update on June 17th has now confirmed that it is “coming soon”. Little it known about the “Stink Bomb” other than what is revealed in the brief description: “Explodes in a cloud on impact and slowly damage anyone inside”. This sounds similar to tear gas and could potentially make the Stink Bomb a powerful item when you’re in a building battle and need to force your opponent out of their base. The exact date for the release of the Stink Bomb is unknown but it seems likely that it will be added as part of the Tuesday, June 19th, Content Update.

An Exclusive Gamescom 2018 Spray Could Be Coming to Fortnite – Dexerto
An Exclusive Gamescom 2018 Spray Could Be Coming to Fortnite Epic GamesWith Gamescom 2018 just around the corner, an exclusive in-game spray should also be making its way to Fortnite Battle Royale in the near future. The information about the spray originally came from the well-known leaking account @StormLeaks on Twitter and shows a Fortnite Llama sporting some pretty cool bling! In fact, the potential new spray is the same as the image that was used in Epic Games’ initial announcement about Fortnite featuring at Gamescom 2018, so the leaks certainly holds some merit. Nothing has been seen or heard about the spray since it was originally leaked but it is beginning to circulate again with Gamescom set to begin tomorrow. The announcement said: “Alongside numerous Fornite-themed activities, you’ll be entertained by talented community members on our show stage, and maybe you’ll even get to meet your favorite streamers and YouTubers shooting new videos in our content creator village! HandOfBlood and Trymacs will be with you all week, hosting our stage program in their own unique way. We will release more details on this in the coming days.” With the Gamescom 2018 action due to begin in Koelnmesse, Cologne on Tuesday, August 21, the addition of one or two Gamescom-exclusive items and cosmetics in the coming days would not be surprising. How Epic Games plans on keeping the new spray exclusive to Gamescom is currently unknown but we will keep you updated as more information becomes available. The Gamescom 2018 event finishes on Saturday, August 25.

Amusing Fortnite Season 2 glitch makes propane tanks your worst enemy – Dexerto
Amusing Fortnite Season 2 glitch makes propane tanks your worst enemy Epic GamesThe Fortnite community is up in arms over a game-breaking Season 2 glitch that makes propane tanks the most frustrating items in the game. While Fortnite’s highly anticipated Season 2 update introduced an assortment of fresh content – from enormous map changes to new cosmetics and even a Deadpool skin – not everyone is pleased with the latest overhaul. A number of game-breaking issues have been hindering the experience for players around the world and even some of the biggest names on Twitch have explained how the new content drop ‘ruined’ Fortnite. The hits continue to come, as a newly discovered glitch has made propane tanks one of the most frustrating additions in Fortnite history. The Rig is a new area towards the south-west side of the map in Season 2. While the area itself is totally unique in that it is isolated from nearby land and mostly features high-ground vantage points, it also comes boasting an entirely new item. Destructive propane tanks are scattered throughout the region and players are able to deal a huge chunk of damage to any competitors that might walk in close proximity to them. Moreover, propane tanks can be picked up and repositioned. However, moving the explosives too far is what leads to the latest game-breaking bug in Fortnite. Picking a tank up and taking it just outside of The Rig, Reddit user ‘BroBroBrayBray’ showcased how the latest bug can affect moment to moment gameplay. Rather than simply dropping the explosive in a new area, the propane tank actually stuck to his right arm and remained there no matter what he tried to do in order to shake it off. “The bad effect is that it blocks your vision, and aiming down sights is literally unplayable,” they explained alongside footage of the frustrating glitch in action. Almost half of the screen is obscured while aiming down the sights with any given weapon and the item becomes unusable from this point on. Amusingly enough, the glitch extends to emotes as well, leading to awkward animations as character models are shown dancing with a tank of propane glued to their arm. There’s no telling what exactly causes the issue, but if you’re trying to take a propane tank away from The Rig, be aware of the fact that it might ruin the rest of your match.

An All-New Fortnite Battle Royale Gifting Feature is Coming Soon – Dexerto
An All-New Fortnite Battle Royale Gifting Feature is Coming Soon Epic Games has confirmed that an all-new “Gifting” feature will be coming to Fortnite Battle Royale soon but further details are currently scarce. The V4.5 update for Fortnite Battle Royale, released on June 27th, is one of the most significant to have been introduced to the game in recent memory. The patch finally introduced the Playground Limited Time Mode, a custom game mode that players have been excited about for over a month, and the all-new Dual Pistols. There have also been numerous interesting leaks from various data miners who have looked through the game files, including a brand new weapon called the “Drum Gun”, and various items, cosmetics, and emotes. Read More: Jetpacks and High Explosives Combine in Leaked “Fly Explosives” Limited Time Mode for Fortnite – However, one new feature that is available for all players to see comes in the form of a new “Gifting” option under the “Account and Content” section of the in-game menu. While the option isn’t currently live, Epic Games’ MrPopoTFS has confirmed on Reddit that it will definitely be available in the near future. Unfortunately there is no exact date set, but the fact that it is already visible in-game suggests that it won’t be a long before players will be able to ge their hands on it. There is also no further information has been released about the feature, or what items will be eligible for it, this marks yet another step towards user, and player, interaction in Fortnite and could potentially open up the opportunities for the likes of cosmetic giveaways in the future.

Amouranth wants her own Fortnite Icon skin after Twitch streamer starts request – Dexerto
Amouranth wants her own Fortnite Icon skin after Twitch streamer starts request Epic Games/Twitter/AmouranthSome Fortnite players are demanding that Twitch star Amouranth be next in line for an Icon skin and the hot tub streamer is in agreement. Twitch streamer and OnlyFans creator Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa has become the top female on any streaming site edging out the likes of Pokimane and Valkyrae. With such success, some fans have begun pushing for her to be included in Fortnite. Fortnite’s Icon skins honor some of the top creators in gaming, music, and sports with a massive assortment ranging from Ninja to Ariana Grande and LeBron James. On September 18, Twitch streamer ‘actingliketommy’ tweeted about how they wanted Amouranth to receive her very own Icon skin, prompting the OnlyFans star to respond. Amouranth responds to calls for her own Fortnite skin In a series of posts, Fortnite player ‘actingliketommy’ remarked how the game “needs” an Amouranth Icon skin and urged the developers to get to work on it. This comment sparked a series of mixed opinions with many outright opposing the suggestion and called Tommy a ‘simp’ while a few others liked the idea of an Amouranth skin. “No way you tweeted this,” one responded while others even called on Tommy to deactivate his account for requesting an Amouranth skin. When asked if the tweet was satire, the user explained that he saw a fake emote with a character in a bathing suit and started thinking, “this would be perfect for her.” For her part, however, Amouranth responded to the idea by retweeting the streamer’s request with a fingers crossed emoji, indicating she would be down to enter the world of Fortnite. Of course, there’s no guarantee that we’d ever see Amouranth enter the game, but it could be quite the interesting crossover if Epic Games decides to make it a reality. Until then, however, fans will have plenty to do in the colorful battle royale as they await Amouranth’s possible arrival with Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 underway.

Amazing Fortnite concept skins will help you hunt for the map’s hidden treasures – Dexerto
Amazing Fortnite concept skins will help you hunt for the map’s hidden treasures A creative fan has designed two incredible concept skins that imagine the Fortnite island is full of buried treasure. Fortnite fans have become well known for their artistic talents and incredibly creativity, and Reddit user fantasyfull is the latest to show of their skills with this incredible design. Uploaded to the Fortnite Battle Royale subreddit, the design, aptly named Treasure Hunter, features two skins alongside two custom back blings and a special harvesting tool. The female version of the skin has a large gold chain around her neck, with small bags of gold coins clipped to her jeans, which have been ripped at the knees during her adventures. Strapped to her back is her greatest prize, a solid gold llama which she found somewhere on the map. Read More: Fortnite player discovers why The Block is one of the best landing spots in Fortnite right now – While the female version of the skin has secured her treasure, the male is still searching for his, but is tooled up as he hunts for those elusive but precious items. Strapped to his leg is a knife, while a grappling hook dangles from his belt allowing him to get to hard to reach places. Ready to be slung over his shoulder is a backpack, with what appears to be an ice axe sticking out of the top, while the harvesting tool for this set is a skull perched on top of a long stick, which they likely found while seeking riches. Unfortunately for those who like these designs, they are currently just concepts and there are no official plans from Epic Games to add them into the popular battle royale title. However, that doesn’t mean we will never see them, as the developers have taken fan created designs in the past and added them to the game, such as the Tender Defender skin.

Among Us devs upset with Epic over Fortnite’s new Imposter mode – Dexerto
Among Us devs upset with Epic over Fortnite’s new Imposter mode Innersloth/Epic GamesFortnite’s new Imposter mode probably looks very familiar to some, but Among Us devs aren’t happy about their game’s concept serving as the inspiration. On August 17 Fortnite debuted a brand-new mode that will seem very familiar to anyone who’s played Among Us. That’s because the new “Infiltration” mode is basically Among Us, just in Fortnite. Devs from Innersloth, the company that makes Among Us, aren’t to happy about it though. There’s nothing saying Epic couldn’t take their idea, but for devs, the fact that the company didn’t even reach out for a possible collab seems to sting a bit. Gary Porter, a programmer at Innersloth, posted a picture of the map for Fortnite’s Imposter mode, and it does bear a striking resemblance to The Skeld map in Among Us. “It’s okay tho, they flipped electrical and medbay and connected security to the cafeteria,” Porter wrote in the thread. “I wasn’t even around for the development of Skeld and I’m still kind of offended.” He wasn’t the only Innersloth employee to vent their frustration with Fortnite forgoing a crossover. Among Us community director Victoria Tran called Epic’s decision “sad.” “It would’ve been really, really cool to collab haha. Just sad indie hours rn,” she tweeted the same day Fortnite’s latest update came out. “Like game mechanics fine, those shouldn’t be gatekept, but at the very least even different themes or terminology makes things more interesting?” https://twitter.com/TheVTran/status/1427725916994682887?s=20 Tran is right: Fortnite did just apparently decide to name their new definitely-not-Among Us mode “Imposters.” You’d think they could have named it a variety of different things, other than one of the main concepts in Innersloth’s hit indie title – and you wouldn’t be the only one. “We didn’t patent the Among Us mechanics. I don’t think that leads to a healthy game industry,” Innersloth co-founder Puff tweeted, before adding, “Is it really that hard to put 10% more effort into putting your own spin on it, though?” We didn’t patent the Among Us mechanics. I don’t think that leads to a healthy game industry. Is it really that hard to put 10% more effort into putting your own spin on it though? — Puff EU 2024 Tour (@PuffballsUnited) August 17, 2021 Callum Underwood of Robot Teddy, an indie company that supports Innersloth, agreed, suggesting to Epic, “You could have changed the name at least lol.” You could have changed the name at least lol https://t.co/xSmxhr4WVE — Callum Uwunderwood (@DevRelCallum) August 17, 2021 On top of all that, Among Us skins, back bling, and other in-game cosmetics would probably have been a sure-fire hit with Fortnite players. We’ve seen collabs with other video games in the battle royale before, like Street Fighter. Whatever Epic’s reason for “cutting out the middle man” so to speak, this latest update might add another activity to keep players entertained in Fortnite… but it’s definitely rubbed the Among Us community the wrong way.

Amazing clip shows how you can hijack enemy X-4 Stormwing planes in Fortnite using the Grappler – Dexerto
Amazing clip shows how you can hijack enemy X-4 Stormwing planes in Fortnite using the Grappler A viral game clip shows that even if you’re high in the sky on Fortnite Battle Royale, you might not be safe if players have Grapplers on the ground. In a remarkable clip, u/defraged abandons his own X-4 Stormwing fighter jet to get back on the ground as the gamer is being chased down by another aircraft. Then, after taking a look back at the opponent who was on their tail, defraged launched a Grappler shot towards the plane, latched onto the tail-end of the green vehicle and destroyed his enemy with the purple Heavy Shotgun. After the shocking maneuver, the player uploaded the clip for the Fortnite community on Reddit to enjoy. Check it out: The X-4 Stormwing fighter jet was introduced as part of the Season 7 patch, which went live on December 7. It is still a new feature, as well as ziplines, and people are still trying to figure out their weaknesses and strengths. However, as we’ve seen from this clip, with the right aim you can grapple onto them, as they do fly fairly slowly. The slow speed of the X-4s allows for some awesome dogfights as well, with many players having already posted some of their clips online. Another way of combatting or exiting the line of fire from the new fighter jets is to use balloons, which have been an available item in Fortnite since patch 6.21. In the past, players were unable to aim, fire or use items while hovering with balloons. However, the new patch does allow you to do that making them a more useful tool to keep ahold of.

All Weapon Mod Bench locations in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Epic GamesWeapon Mod Benches are pivotal to improving your weapons so you can earn that coveted Victory Royale. Here are all the Mod Bench locations to discover in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4. Introduced in Chapter 5, Weapon Mod Benches have become crucial elements to winning in Fortnite. Upon finding one, players can interact with it to spend Gold Bars and modify their weapon to their liking with various scopes, barrels, and magazines. As mentioned, they function the same as previous seasons. Their locations are almost identical to previous seasons, although a new seasonal POI breaks up the mold. Every Weapon Mod Bench location in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 There are 9 different Weapon Mod Bench locations, all tucked away in separate Weapon Bunkers. The Chapter 5 Season 4 map below shows exactly where to find them. Here are the main Weapon Mod Bench locations on Chapter 5 Season 4’s map: West of the Underworld – West of Doomstadt – West of Grim Gate – East of Doomstadt – North of Reckless Railways – South of Reckless Railways – West of Mount Olympus – South of Nitrodrome – South of The Raft – One thing to note is the UI has seen a bit of a rework since the start of the previous season. Its presentation and interface are a lot more seamless compared to its prior iterations, letting players upgrade weapons with ease since they can now scroll through their inventory. That said, it still costs 75 Gold Bars to upgrade your weapons – not a bad price to pay to get some needed boosts to your weaponry. Since the Weapon Benches are located in Weapon Bunkers, be wary of enemy players holding positions in the bunker. It may seem free, but someone’s always watching. Also, bear in mind that an extra Weapon Mod Bench spawns per match on Loot Island, meaning there are 10 in total. With Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 underway, be sure to get up to speed on what’s new via the patch notes or take a look at all the new Mythic weapons. Also, to rack up that XP, make sure to complete weekly challenges and quests.

Here’s a map with all the marked locations of each Service Station: You’ll be able to find the most Service Stations in the southern portion of the island since that’s where most cars can be found in a Battle Royale match. How to mod a vehicle in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 Modding a vehicle is quite simple in the newest Fortnite season. All you need to do is drive the car through a Mod Box and break it. Identify the Mod Box from its symbol and if you wish to install that mod to your vehicle, just ram it at a high speed and your mod will automatically be installed on your vehicle slot. If you already have a mod installed in a slot, you can replace the mod with a different one or a brand-new version of the existing one. You may want to replace a mod if its Health bar is getting low. All Stone Head Locations for the “Visit Different Stone Heads” Fortnite Challenge – Dexerto
All Stone Head Locations for the “Visit Different Stone Heads” Fortnite Challenge As you work through the challenges for Week 9 of Season 5 in Fortnite, you’ll find one that asks you to “visit different Stone Heads”. Here’s how it’s done. To complete the challenge, you’ll need to visit a total of seven Stone Heads and, by our count, that means you’ll have to visit every single one of them. The Stone Heads, which look like the Moai ones that are found on Easter Island, appeared at the start of Season 5 in Fortnite, scattered around the map with no explanation. How to Complete the “Follow the treasure map found in Shifty Shafts” Fortnite ChallengeIf you’re not sure about the locations for all of the Stone Heads, we’ve marked all seven of them on the map below: Remember to complete every game that visit a Stone Head in before returning to the lobby. Leaving before you’ve been eliminated, or picked up the Victory Royale, may result in your challenge progress not being applied. Completing all seven of the challenges will allow you to unlock the bonus “Road Trip” challenge screen. This loading screen will include a hint for a hidden Battle Pass star, or secret Banner, that is hidden somewhere on the map.

All Seven Outpost and Vault locations in Fortnite Chapter 3 – Dexerto
All Seven Outpost and Vault locations in Fortnite Chapter 3 Epic GamesSeven Outpost locations are brand new landmarks in Fortnite Chapter 3. They contain Vaults that house top-tier weapons, so we’ve put together a map to help you find them all. Chapter 3: Season 1 of Fortnite introduced loads of features including a reworked weapon pool, the long-awaited Spider-Man crossover (complete with web-shooter gloves), and of course, an entirely new map. One of the biggest additions on the Chapter 3 map is the Seven Outposts, which are home to Vaults that contain loads of high-tier loot hidden inside Vault Chests – although they’re not very easy to open. You’ll also need to visit Seven Outposts and Vaults to complete various weekly challenges throughout Chapter 3: Season 1, as well as the new Foundation Quests, so it’s worth brushing up on their locations. Contents Seven Outpost and Vault locations in Fortnite Seven Outposts are scattered across the far reaches of the Fortnite map in Chapter 3. As you might have guessed, there are seven in total, with one at the center of the map and the rest dotted around the edges. Here are all of the Seven Outpost locations in Fortnite Chapter 3: Northwest of Logjam Lumberyard – West of Covert Cavern. – Southwest of Greasy Grove. – Directly south of Condo Canyon. – Near the Mighty Monument statue east of Sanctuary. – Northeast of The Daily Bugle. – At the center of the map, northeast of Tilted Towers. – Each of these Seven Outposts also contains a Vault hidden underground, so if you’re looking to find one of those to complete a quest or get high-tier loot, simply head to one of the locations we’ve mentioned above. We’ve also marked all of the Seven Outpost and Vault locations on the Fortnite map below to make finding them a little easier: How to open a Vault in Fortnite Once you’ve found a Seven Outpost in Fortnite, you’ll need to check inside all of the surrounding buildings until you find one with stairs leading underground. Here, you should find a locked Vault waiting for you. Approach the Vault and it will tell you how many players are needed to unlock it. You’ll always need at least one other player with you – or more, if you’re playing in Trios or Squads – so you’ll struggle in Solo mode. If you are playing Solo, your only real option here is to hope that another player is around to help you out when opening the Vault so that you can both share the loot inside. Of course, this does require some trust. A few clever players have found a loophole when playing in Solo mode, though. If you can find a chicken and grab it, you’ll be able to unlock a Vault that would normally require two players to stand near it. We’re not sure if this trick still works (Epic might have removed it) but it’s worth trying if you’re struggling to get another player to cooperate with you. Now that you know how to find a Seven Outpost and open a Vault, check out some of our other Fortnite guides below: Where to find all Exotic and Mythic weapons | NPC locations guide | What does the Victory Crown mean in Fortnite? | How to complete all weekly challenges | How to defeat The Foundation boss in Chapter 3 | How to slide | How to play split-screen | Best Fortnite Deathrun codes | Fortnite leaked skins | How to level up fast in Fortnite | Best landing spots in Fortnite

All reboot vans locations on Fortnite Season 8 map revealed – Dexerto
All reboot vans locations on Fortnite Season 8 map revealed Reboot vans are the latest addition to Fortnite allowing you to revive your fallen teammates at various locations around the map – use this map to find them easily. After numerous leaks, Fortnite have finally added respawn functionality to the default playlists in the v8.30 patch – allowing players to bring their teammates back into battle after elimination by collecting their reboot card. How to use reboot vans in Fortnite Taking inspiration from rival game, Apex Legends, reboot cards will remain in the game for 90 seconds after death and need to be delivered to a reboot van on the map. After approaching the van, your teammate’s reboot card can be activated and they will re-enter the game with a limited loadout; a grey pistol, 100 health and 100 wood meaning they are still capable of putting up a fight. It might be worth dropping them some of your own loot to improve your chances of survival. Where to find reboot vans in Fortnite This map shows the location of every reboot van on the vast Fortnite map should you need to bring your squad back to life. It’s worth noting that a reboot van enters a cooldown period of 120 seconds after use so you may need to divert your route if an enemy beat you to it – don’t worry because there are plenty to choose from. As shown on the map, vans were found at every point of interest on the map meaning almost all players should have the chance to bring their teammates back onto the battlefield. Particularly in the north-west section of the map, there are plenty of locations to choose from with vans outside Junk Junction, Haunted Hills and the Block. It remains to be seen whether the addition will prove to be popular among the Fortnite community who are still unhappy after Epic Games decided to not revert the controversial removal of the siphon mechanic.

All Scrying Pool locations in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 – Dexerto
All Scrying Pool locations in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Epic GamesIf you’re wondering where to find Scrying Pools in Fortnite, then here is every location for them on the Battle Royale map and how you can use them in Chapter 5 Season 2. Fortnite has finally launched Chapter 5 Season 2 with its Myths and Mortals theme that centers around gods from Greek Mythology. This season’s update has brought along a wealth of new godly additions. This includes Greek gods in the form of NPCs and skins, the Battle Pass, weapons, quests, and much more. In particular, some of the new quests that proved tricky are certain Snapshot Quests that involve players having to find and use Scrying Pools to speak with the Oracle and various gods. You will need to use a Scrying Pool four times to complete each related Oracle Snapshot Quest. Upon completion of each of these quests, you will then earn 5,000 XP as your reward and unlock the next quest. So, here are all the locations of the Scrying Pools and how you can use them in Fortnite. All Scrying Pool locations in Fortnite There are four different Scrying Pool locations in Fortnite across this season’s Battle Royale Island. All of these exact locations can be shown on the Island map below. Here are all four Scrying Pool locations in Fortnite: At Mount Olympus on the eastern side next to the lake. – Northwest of Reckless Railways on top of a small hill. – Southwest of Pleasant Piazza next to the large water pond. – Far west of The Underworld right on the edge of the Island. – If you are trying to complete one of the Snapshot Quests, then we would recommend landing at the Scrying Pool located just west of The Underworld. This one is far away from any danger, while still having enough loot and even a vehicle around it to get straight back into the action. How to use Scrying Pools in Fortnite In order to use Scrying Pools, you will need to first activate a Snapshot Quest and then walk up to them and press your interact button when prompted. Once you interact with the pool, the Oracle or one of the gods will start speaking to you to further progress the Myths and Mortals storyline in Season 2. This will complete that particular Story Quest and you will receive the 5,000 XP reward for each. You can walk up to each Scrying Pool and interact with them without having a Snapshot quest active, but if you do, you will receive the message: “I am still scrying your fate. Check back later.” With these only being the first Snapshot Quests for this season, there are more involving these Scrying Pools that are bound to follow as the Season and its lore progresses further. The competition kicked off on April 13, with a series of Online Opens taking place on a weekly basis until the final Week 10 Open on June 15-16, with the finals will eventually taking place in New York City on the weekend of July 26-28. Qualifier controversy You may notice the absence of both XXiF and Ronald ‘Ronaldo’ Mach, who were both dropped by Rise Nation after Epic Games revealed that the competitive players had been banned for cheating on May 3. Each player has been suspended for 14 days from competitive play and their initial qualification was rescinded. This issue reared its head again following Week 8 when the pair secured qualification to the World Cup, with DrLupo, Tfue and NICKMERCS all speaking out against their inclusion. Fans will be hoping that everybody on the qualified list will be there on merit, nevertheless, and Epic will be working to ensure that’s the case. Where to find all Payphone locations in Fortnite Season 7 – Dexerto
Where to find all Payphone locations in Fortnite Season 7 Epic GamesEpic Games added a new way to farm Gold Bars in Fortnite Season 7 by racking up challenges via a Payphone and here’s where you can find them throughout the battle royale. Payphones let players choose from four NPC challenges. Completing those challenges rewards players with everything from XP for Legendary challenges to Gold Bars as the standard, and the latter can massively help with loading up on Weapons or Consumables. The phones across Fortnite are a useful component since you can drop basically anywhere on the map and still have a decent way of accessing Gold Bars from the get-go. But since they don’t show up on the larger map in Fortnite, it’s good to know exactly where to access a Payphone as you’re playing a match. Where to find Fortnite Payphones? You’ll need Payphones to complete big quests every now and then, so it’s handy to have their locations on hand if you’re in a bind. There are 15 Payphones around the Fortnite island, but they’re not evenly dispersed. If you’re landing anywhere near Steamy Stacks, then expect to have a few options nearby. Whereas if you’re landing near Weeping Woods, your options become much more limited. Of course, landing near the middle of the map will severely limit your options. Landing at the North West or South West parts of the map will give you the best chances of coming across a Payphone. Just keep in mind to complete a Payphone request in the time limit they give you, but playing around the NPCs could pay huge returns.

However, if you run out of those resources and want to take a break from the heat of the battle on the chaos-ridden Wasteland, you can take a dip in an Oasis Pool located across the new map. Here’s where you can find one on the island and how to use one. Every Fortnite Oasis Pool location in Chapter 5 Season 3 There are five Oasis Pool spots on the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 island, all of which are located in the Wasteland biome. Here’s where you can find each one of them: Oasis Pool 1 – East of Nitrodrome POI – Oasis Pool 2 – North East of Sandy Steppes POI – Oasis Pool 3 – Far North East of Brutal Beachhead POI – Oasis Pool 4 – South East of Redline Rig POI – Oasis Pool 5 – North of Brawler’s Battleground POI – Below is a map with each Oasis Pool location highlighted in a blue circle. How to recover health or gain shields in an Oasis Pool in Fortnite To recover health or gain shields, you can simply jump into the Oasis Pool and stay there for a while. The pool works identically to Slurpy Swamp Lake back from Chapter 2 where the slurp water heals players. However the Oasis Pool heals players by increasing their health first with 1 HP per tick and once that’s full, it’ll begin replenishing their shield at a similar rate. While this is a slow process, it would be wise to replenish your health and regain your shields if you’re trying to escape an enemy vehicle or survive the storm. Moreover, if you recover 150 HP or shield individually or cumulatively, you’ll complete a Week 2 Quest and be rewarded with 10,000 XP to help you progress along your Battle Pass. While you take a dip in an Oasis Pool and relax, check out the new weapons you can arm yourself with, how to mod vehicles, and all the mythic Nitro Cars you need to beware of.
