Sunderland ’til I Die: How Simon Grayson went from Sunderland woe to managing Messi rival in India – Dexerto
Sunderland ’til I Die: How Simon Grayson went from Sunderland woe to managing Messi rival in India Bengaluru FC/TwitterSeason three of the hit Netflix series Sunderland ’til I Die will hit TV screens on Tuesday, as the fall and rise of Sunderland AFC continues to be chartered to worldwide audiences. After relegation from the Championship in 2018 in Season One, to their unsuccessful bid for promotion from League One in 2019 in Season Two, the story picks up in Season Three with the Black Cats bidding to win promotion again in 2021/22 after a further two failed attempts. Way back when Season One first aired in December 2018, Simon Grayson was the manager at the start of the 2017/18 campaign. He was sacked after just 18 matches in charge, though, and Sunderland ultimately failed to recover from a poor start to the season and were relegated to the third tier of English football. Having had successful spells in charge of Blackpool, Leeds United, Huddersfield Town and Preston North End, Grayson had to go back to the drawing board after a brutal spell on Wearside. What has happened to Simon Grayson since Sunderland ’til I Die? Grayson has had spells in charge of Bradford City, Blackpool and Fleetwood Town since leaving Sunderland but it was his decision to move to India to manage Bengaluru FC which really caught the eye. In June 2022, Grayson uprooted his life to Bengalore, India, to take charge of the Indian Super League side. “It was an incredible journey both professionally and personally,” Grayson told Dexerto, on behalf of Bitcoin Casinos. For most of my career managing, I have managed in Yorkshire and Lancashire and up to Sunderland. “So if I was ever going to manage away from home, I might as well go the whole hog and work 5,000 miles away. “Even when I got offered the contract, I still thought I wouldn’t go. I didn’t think I would have it in me to leave my family and do something that was completely new to me and out of my comfort zone. “But I just thought why not? I had done what I needed to do in England for now, the jobs I had been offered that summer I thought I could maybe come back to them but this was an opportunity. “It was an incredible journey. It was a different culture, a different lifestyle, the people that you meet, the different cities you went to and ultimately I was being paid to sample a part of the world I never thought I would do. “If you put that together with the professional side of it, I never knew what was coming the next day with the different cultures, facilities, and I liked that. “It challenged me and I know I am a far better coach and person now than when I left for India. The football experience was good.” Managing an Indian icon Grayson enjoyed immediate success, guiding his new team to success in the Durand Cup – a trophy he describes as the equivalent of England’s Carabao Cup. But after his first 10 games in charge, he was under pressure after some mixed results in the Indian Super League. What followed was an incredible 12 game winning run which saw Bengaluru reach the final of the Indian Super League play-offs where they were heartbreakingly beaten on penalties. Grayson made the difficult decision to drop his captain, Sunil Chhetri, at the start of that run. Chhetri, who is an icon of the Indian game and is the third highest active international goalscorer behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. “Unless you were really into your football, you would never think India have a player of this success,” Grayson explained. “He was just this icon where every time we travelled, he was getting mobbed in airports. “It was an incredible experience just to be his manager. I ultimately made one of the toughest decisions I ever made as a manager and I dropped him at the start of the 12 game run we went on. “I thought to myself he wasn’t playing as well as he could do, but he was this icon of Indian football. But if I was going to go, I was going to go down fighting and do what’s best for the football club. “It was sink or swim and thankfully I swam and we got to the two finals after that.” What is next for Simon Grayson? The 2023-24 season began with Bengaluru reaching a third cup final under Grayson, as they were beaten in the final of the Indian Super Cup by Odisha FC. However, he opted to leave the club by mutual consent in December and he is on the hunt for a fresh managerial opportunity after reviving his career in India. “The hardest part was being away from the family,” Grayson concluded. “It wasn’t easy but it has opened my eyes to maybe managing abroad again. Whether it’s that far afield or in Europe or back in the UK, I’m open to anything. “I’m only 54 and still have the hunger and desire. I’ve managed nearly 800 games and when I see Neil Warnock going back to work in his seventies I am thinking: ‘Fair play, Neil’. “I still have plenty of life in me but I won’t be doing it until I’m 75, that’s for sure.” Season three of Sunderland ’til I Die is released on Netflix on Tuesday, December 8.

Sunderland ’til I Die: Ex-head coach reveals truth about being a manager during filming – Dexerto
Sunderland ’til I Die: Ex-head coach reveals truth about being a manager during filming Netflix/Sunderland ’til I DieFormer Sunderland head coach Simon Grayson has opened up on managing the club during the filming of hit Netflix documentary Sunderland ’til I Die. The fly-on-the-wall show documents the club’s trials and tribulations on and off the pitch, but also highlights their impact on non-football staff, fans and the wider community. Season One documented their relegation from the Championship in 2017/18 before Season Two documented their bid to win promotion from League One the following year. The show returns to Netflix on Tuesday (February 13), with Season Three picking up the story in the 2021/22 campaign with Sunderland looking to finally win promotion from League One at the fourth time of asking. What was it like on the other side of the camera? Grayson was the club’s manager at the beginning of the 2017/18 campaign and inherited a side that had just been relegated from the Premier League. With a major squad overhaul needed that summer and turmoil off the field as Ellis Short’s ownership at the club was entering its final year, what was it like for Grayson to try and work under the watchful eye of the Netflix cameras? “They tried to do it the season before I got there and I think David Moyes stopped it,” Grayson exclusively told Dexerto, on behalf of Bitcoin Casinos. “When I got there after Preston it was already agreed ahead of that season. “The outcome they wanted from the documentary was for them to win promotion back to the Premier League but it didn’t go the way thought it would. “It was just one of those things that you had to put up with. I couldn’t stop it from happening but I stopped a few things from going out that I didn’t want to be made public. “The cameras were never allowed in the dressing room, they didn’t come to training too much, because there are certain elements of a football dressing room people don’t need to know about. “What goes on in the dressing room stays there at times. It wasn’t easy but when these documentaries come out, it’s about how they are produced as well.” Grayson’s tenure at Sunderland was short-lived. He lasted just 18 games in charge and Sunderland only won one of their opening 15 league matches. The documentary shows former chief executive Martin Bain take the decision to sack Grayson in the aftermath of a 3-3 draw at home to Bolton Wanderers in October 2017. However, Grayson was still contracted to film the documentary for the rest of that season and has revealed he had to film scenes after his sacking where he had to act as if he was still Sunderland manager. “It depends how people perceive you,” he added. “I did an interview that came out and it was on the documentary. People presumed I was doing a presentation on a flip chart an hour and a half before kick-off. “It was done five hours before a pre-season match and we were doing bullet points reminding the players of what were key elements of the season. “When I left I was still contracted to do the documentary and they told me to turn up with three different shirts at a hotel in London and did three different interviews as if it was three different months of the season. “People say I didn’t look too enthusiastic on those interviews. You aren’t going to speak highly of a club that sacked you two months ago. “I remember watching us score at Norwich and they panned it to me at the bench and I’m sitting on the gold seats at Hull City. Little things like that aren’t great but I don’t disagree with them doing it.” But while the editing process left Grayson frustrated, he does feel these fly on the wall documentaries hold huge value for football supporters. “They are a real insight for supporters because you are seeing things you will never see behind the scenes,” he added. “I agree they are a good way to do it but it just depends how they are produced. “Fulwell 73 were Sunderland supporters but it wasn’t a club documentary. I’m not having a go at Fulwell 73 because they are Sunderland supporters, they can make it out however they want it to be.” Season three of Sunderland ’til I Die begins on Netflix on Tuesday, February 13.

Mark Goldbridge roasts Manchester United star with brutal Michael Jackson comparison – Dexerto
Mark Goldbridge roasts Manchester United star with brutal Michael Jackson comparison Associated Press/Mark GoldbridgeManchester United streamer Mark Goldbrige has slammed Casemiro for his role in Arsenal’s winning goal against the Red Devils, claiming that the midfielder was “slower than Michael Jackson on a tractor” after he failed to get back onside before the Gunners scored. Man United’s solid start against Arsenal was undone in the 20th minute when Kai Havertz squared the ball to Leandro Trossard to tap home past Andre Onana inside the six-yard box. Ben White’s through ball down the right-hand side found the German in acres of space, with some appealing for offside as it seemed on first glance that he was well behind United’s back four. However, Casemiro was 10 yards deeper than the rest of his defensive line, playing Havertz onside after slowly jogging back up the pitch. Goldbridge, who is no stranger to ranting about his beloved club, could not believe what he was watching as the ball was then swept into Trossard who tucked home with ease. “Why the f*** is Casemiro keeping Havertz onside?” he started. “He’s a walking bl***y disaster the last month. Too slow. He should be sprinting out, that’s f***ing lazy. “He’s slower than Michael Jackson on a f***ing tractor. And it’s well known that Michael Jackson couldn’t drive, and he’s also dead! So he’d be really slow in a f***ing tractor. “That is absolute s**** by Casemiro, absolutely terrible. He’s f***ing cost us there, everybody’s hard work, that is f***ing lazy. Absolute joke.” Trossard’s goal proved to be the telling moment from the match as Arsenal secured a 1-0 win at Old Trafford. The result ensures that Mikel Arteta’s squad will take the Premier League title race to the final day of the season. The Gunners need Man City to drop points in one of their two remaining games against Tottenham and West Ham to give them any chance of finishing top of the table, should they beat Everton at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, May 19.

Manchester United get mixed news on Lisandro Martinez knee injury Sky SportsLisandro Martinez is expected to be out for eight weeks but does not require surgery on the knee injury that forced him off in Manchester United’s win over West Ham. However, his comeback only lasted four games and he is now set for another spell on the sidelines. Club statement A club statement said: “Lisandro Martinez has sustained an injury to the medial collateral ligament in his knee and is expected to be out of action for at least eight weeks. “The Argentine defender left the field in the 71st minute of our 3-0 win over West Ham United at Old Trafford on Sunday. “We all wish Licha a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the pitch later in the season.”

Manchester United flop Donny van de Beek’s career hits new low – Dexerto
Manchester United flop Donny van de Beek’s career hits new low YouTube/Eintracht FrankfurtManchester United’s Donny van de Beek received an apology from his manager at Frankfurt after he was omitted from the German club’s European squad. Van de Beek joined United in 2020 after gaining a reputation as one of the most promising midfielders in Europe, but his stay at Old Trafford has been nothing short of disastrous. Van de Beek has completed 90 minutes on just nine occasions since joining United, and only managed that feat three times in the Premier League. ‘I told Donny that I was sorry’ Van de Beek joined Frankfurt on loan in January and has made four Bundesliga appearances for them but was last week excluded from the team’s Europa Conference League squad. “He’s only played a total of four games in the last two years, so it won’t happen overnight,” Frankfurt manager Dino Toppmoller said. “But I have 100% confidence in his quality, he’ll definitely help us in the second half of the season. I told Donny that I was sorry but also what I expected from him now.” Frankfurt have an option to make the deal to sign Van de Beek permanent in the summer. Speaking after leaving United in January, Van de Beek said he was confident of helping his new teammates in Germany. “If you don’t play as many games as you want, it’s tough, but that’s the past now,” Van de Beek said. “I’m here now and I’m positive, which is the most important thing and then things can change. “I’m looking forward now. I think it helps when you play with players [at United] who have achieved a lot and have experience. You see them in training every day, which helps develop you and I’ll try to bring that here as well to help the team.”

KSI sends message to Liverpool great Jamie Carragher as Ian Wright hits back at Arsenal critics – Dexerto
KSI sends message to Liverpool great Jamie Carragher as Ian Wright hits back at Arsenal critics KSIKSI has sent a frank message to Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher after his reaction to the Reds’ loss at Arsenal, and the Gunners’ post-match celebrations. Goals from Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard helped Arsenal to a vital 3-1 win over their Premier League title rivals, to move within two points of them at the top of the table. After the match, Arsenal’s players celebrated buoyantly on the pitch with their fans, with captain Martin Odegaard getting behind the camera to take a photo of the club photographer in front of the supporters. That didn’t sit well with Carragher in the Sky Sports studio, as the former defender turned TV pundit urged the Norway international to stop celebrating and ‘get down the tunnel’. Fans on social media were quick to suggest Carragher was ‘rattled’ and after he changed his profiled picture on X to Odegaard holding the camera, KSI was quick to send him a brutal message. The YouTube star tweeted: “Cry more,” followed by four crying emojis, much to the delight of his fans and Arsenal supporters. Ian Wright hits back at Arsenal celebration critics KSI wasn’t the only person to snap back at criticism of Arsenal’s celebrations. Gunners legend Ian Wright also fired back at the critics, as he launched into a brilliant rant on his social media channels. He said: “The negativity towards my manager, man. What has he done apart from celebrating a goal and celebrating his team? Celebrating a team that is trying to beat these juggernauts, Liverpool and Manchester City. “And because he’s celebrating? Because Martin Odegaard is taking a picture trying to kill the joy with Stuart the photographer? A lifelong Gunner. “This man has been supporting Arsenal since he was five or something ridiculous like that. Just taking a picture in front of the north bank, what’s wrong with the captain doing that? “It’s got nothing to do with the fact that we’ve just beaten Liverpool, that’s just an opportunity. Why is everybody trying to kill the joy? Don’t kill the joy. “There’s so much of the season to go. As soon as Arsenal do anything they just come under a pile-on. It’s like we can’t have any joy. “It’s like England at a World Cup or a Euros, as soon as England start doing well everyone is jumping on them! “It’s the same thing that happens with Arsenal. Don’t let them spoil the joy. Keep doing what you’re doing. Whatever is going to be will be. Do not kill the joy. “My manager, celebrate with passion like you do, because that’s what it’s about. “People are expecting us to bottle it and lose these games and we’re going through it, we’re getting ourselves through, through injuries and everything, and the hatred is just so intense. “Just leave us alone. You lot can take the p**s if it doesn’t happen like you normally do. Leave us alone in the joy. “Enjoy Arsenal fans. Enjoy our moments. Because that’s all this game is: moments. And we had one tonight, we beat the great Liverpool who are top of the league. Up the Gunners!”

Kylian Mbappé confirmed as Real Madrid signing by Fabrizio Romano – Dexerto
Kylian Mbappé confirmed as Real Madrid signing by Fabrizio Romano Wikimedia CommonsAfter months of rumors surrounding Kylian Mbappé’s next destination, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that his next club will be Champions League winners Real Madrid. The France striker previously revealed that he was leaving his current club, Paris Saint-Germain, via an emotional video last month. His next destination was not entirely clear, though Real Madrid was the only club said to be in contention for his signature. According to a post on Fabrizio Romano’s Twitter/X account, the deal to sign Mbappé is complete, with the journalist confirming that “every document has been signed, sealed and completed.” In addition, details in the post seemingly confirm that the decision to go to Madrid was made back in February. There is also no transfer fee related to the deal, as Mbappé’s contract with his now former club runs out this summer. The timeline for the transfer also appears to be unusually protracted moving forward. The club is expected to announce the player’s arrival on Monday, though they won’t be able to officially present Mbappé until mid-July, following the conclusion of the Euros this summer. The Frenchmen joins a club who are celebrating their 15th Champions League victory, claiming the title against Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium. The win marks the sixth time they have walked away with the trophy in just ten years. Following last night’s final, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti refused to comment on the transfer, saying that he would not be talking about anyone not currently in Real Madrid’s squad. English prodigy Jude Bellingham, who also featured extensively in the Champions League Final, has been a little more forthcoming, saying that the striker would “take us to the next level,” if and when he became a Madrid player. The Frenchmen has big shoes to fill, following the exit of his countryman Karim Benzema in 2023, a player who scored 238 goals for the club. That said, Real Madrid started the Champions League final without a recognized striker and competition for his place is surprisingly low considering the prestige of the side overall.

Kick streamer Mellstroy allegedly bribed fans to pitch invade Champions League Final – Dexerto
Kick streamer Mellstroy allegedly bribed fans to pitch invade Champions League Final Belarusian Kick streamer ‘Mellstroy’ looks to be the culprit behind several spectators invading the pitch at the Champions League final on June 1 after putting an eye-watering prize up for grabs. Eyes were on Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid as the two went head-to-head at Wembley Stadium, with only one team walking away European Champions. However, the match abruptly came to a halt just 30 seconds in after individuals stormed the pitch, with one containing ‘Mellstroy’ printed in bold text across their shirt, along with advertisements for his Kick Stream. The 25-year-old Kick streamer, who has over 470,000 followers on the livestreaming platform, reportedly offered his fans an eye-watering $350k for whoever gets on the pitch first. But, it’s unclear if he intends to pay up. Mellstroy has yet to go live or respond since the pitch invasion, but did retweet a photo of one of the fans taking a selfie with Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr. Three individuals were quickly removed from the turf, and the game was swiftly back underway after a brief pause. It was confirmed at half-time that the pitch invaders had been arrested, with a Wembley spokesperson strongly condemning the interrupters. Spectators were also reminded that it is illegal to enter the field. Additionally, Mellstroy has been banned from Kick, and his channel is currently inaccessible on the platform. It’s currently unclear if the ban is temporary or if it’s permanent, and Mellstroy hasn’t spoken since the incident occurred. This isn’t the first time a Kick streamer has put a bounty on rushing the stage for a tournament, either. An ongoing feud between CSGO Empire and CSGORoll resulted in the trophy being smashed at the Copenhagen PGL Major in Counter Strike 2.

He said: “I can understand that it’s a shock for a lot of people in this moment, when you hear it for the first time, but obviously I can explain it – or at least try to explain it. “I love absolutely everything about this club, I love everything about the city, I love everything about our supporters, I love the team, I love the staff. I love everything. But that I still take this decision shows you that I am convinced it is the one I have to take. “It is that I am, how can I say it, running out of energy. I have no problem now, obviously, I knew it already for longer that I will have to announce it at one point, but I am absolutely fine now. I know that I cannot do the job again and again and again and again. “After the years we had together and after all the time we spent together and after all the things we went through together, the respect grew for you, the love grew for you and the least I owe you is the truth – and that is the truth.” Carragher reacts to ‘body blow’ Klopp departure After hearing the news, Liverpool legend and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher took to X to offer his immediate reaction, urging Klopp to ‘go out with a bang’. Mbappe has long been linked with a move to the Spanish capital and it was widely expected he would ply his trade at the Estadio Bernabeu next season after years of being linked with a move away from Paris. The 2018 World Cup winner confirmed he will leave Les Parisiens at the end of his contract next month but, according to Speed, he won’t be moving to the Spanish champions this summer. “Y’all didn’t hear it from me but what I will say is he is not going to Madrid. I am sorry, you didn’t hear it from me, but he is not going to Madrid,” Speed said during a live stream. “I am not even trolling. Y’all will see. Y’all will come back to this video and say Speed was right. All I have to say is he is not going to Madrid. “This is not just coming out of my a**. I am not trolling. I know. That is all I have to say. He is not going to Madrid. I can promise you that. Mark my words and come back to this video later on when he announces where he goes.” Mbappe has also tentatively been linked with a move to the Premier League or to Saudi Arabia but it is believed to be a career ambition to join Real Madrid. The 25-year-old will lead France’s hopes in this summer’s European Championships and any decision over his future is expected to be made once that tournament concludes. There is also talk of Mbappe representing France’s football team at the 2024 Olympic games in Paris, which would likely delay his arrival to any new club, giving the Olympics schedule stretches into August when the new football season begins.

Five Ivan Toney transfer options amid Arsenal talk as Brentford star celebrates suspension return – Dexerto
Five Ivan Toney transfer options amid Arsenal talk as Brentford star celebrates suspension return YouTube: Diary of a CEOBrentford forward Ivan Toney’s eight month ban from football is now over and he is expected to be in the Bees’ squad for this weekend’s Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest. Last season, Toney cemented himself as one of the Premier League’s most prolific forwards and arguably became England’s second choice forward behind Harry Kane. His record of 32 goals in 66 top flight appearances across the last two seasons means his record for Brentford stands at just shy of a goal every other Premier League game. In his absence, Brentford have been in a steady decline from their two impressive mid-table finishes in the last two seasons and after five successive defeats they sit just three points above the relegation zone. The Bees desperately need the 27-year-old to not only stay in West London this month but rediscover the form that has made him one of the most highly sought after forwards in the country. Toney marked his ban coming to an end with a simple message on X, celebrating being ‘free’ from his suspension. But with links to moves to some of the biggest clubs in the country, the question remains whether he will remain at the Gtech Community Stadium or move on to pastures new. As such, Dexerto Sport has looked at five possible transfer options facing the England international this month. Arsenal Arsenal’s Premier League title bid has stalled in recent weeks and their goals have dried up. Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah’s ability to score the goals to fire them to the title has been questioned as a result. It’s no surprise then to see Toney, who has admitted his fondness for the Gunners, heavily linked with a move to North London as Mikel Arteta looks to go one better than last season’s second placed finish. Speaking to talkSPORT bet, Ally McCoist has urged Arsenal to ‘break the bank’ to sign Toney, while Gunners legend Ray Parlour has also urged his former side to sign him although he isn’t confident a deal could get done this month. 10:40 onwards McCoist discusses Toney to Arsenal “Arsenal need a central striker,” he told NetBet Online Casino. “Ivan Toney has been talked about and he has done well for Brentford in the Premier League – he’d be a great addition for Arsenal. “I think he would be too much money and that Brentford will want to keep him this month to avoid relegation this season. “I would look to wait until the summer. Toney fits the Arsenal way of playing, so he will want to repay the faith at Brentford and then review options in the summer. Toney would be on the top of the list come the end of the season. “I would go as far as if Arsenal get the right number 9 in their side, then they can win the Premier League next season.” Chelsea Chelsea have spent a lot of money across the last two seasons but still lack a prolific goalscorer up front. The Blues have struggled under Todd Boehly’s ownership to reach their former heights but former defender Wayne Bridge believes signing Toney could hold the key to doing so. “Chelsea need a striker, which is crazy when you look at the money that they’ve spent,” Bridge told BetVictor. “I like Ivan Toney a lot. He’s aggressive and clinical, but he’s obviously had a lot of time out with his ban. If Ivan Toney can get back his match fitness and score a few goals for Brentford for the rest of the season then he could be a great signing for Chelsea in the summer. “He’s a great player but he’s had a lot of time out. You’d need to see him get back to playing and being sharp before spending big money on him. Once he’s done that then he’d definitely be a striker I’d be looking at in the summer.” Manchester United Back in November it was claimed the Red Devils would target an experienced forward in January to ease the burden on young star Rasmus Hojlund. The report from Mail Online also suggested they were monitoring Toney’s situation, while also linking United with moves for Porto’s Mehdi Taremi and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen. Newcastle United It is often forgotten that Toney actually made his Premier League debut for Newcastle in September 2015 when the Magpies were managed by Steve McClaren. Toney was never really handed an opportunity on Tyneside once Rafa Benitez succeeded McClaren and he is now looked at as ‘one who got away’ by Newcastle fans. There would be a sense of unfinished business on both sides and it is a move Magpies legend Alan Shearer would relish. “I would [try and sign him] if I was in charge of the recruitment at Newcastle,” Shearer told the Rest is Football podcast. “I think he is a really good player and a really good option and Newcastle need to improve in that department. They need another body in there and I don’t think there will be a shortage of takers for Ivan Toney.” Stay at Brentford Toney, of course, could stay at Brentford and repay their faith in him by sticking by him during his time away from the sport. Speaking to Sky Sports, Toney admitted he feels he has a debt to repay to the club, as he said: “Thomas Frank has been nothing but the biggest help I could have asked for. The whole club has. “From putting extra sessions on for me, from taking their time out to put a session on, to go outside when it’s raining, when they’re not even supposed to be in, all these kinds of things. “I have a lot to be paying them and I can’t wait to try and do that. As a whole, everybody knows Brentford’s a family club, they’ve been nothing but amazing to me throughout the whole situation. I can’t thank them enough, especially the fans. “They were behind me from the first minute as well. I have a lot to repay.” That being said, every player has his price and Frank has already admitted as much. “I think every club in the world is a selling club apart from five or six clubs. We are a selling club if the right price is there,” Frank admitted on Monday Night Football. “I think it’s the right timing for the player to go, that is not my decision in the end. Yes, it does apply to him too (Toney), I understand why there are a lot of rumours out there, for me, as a striker and a number nine, I don’t see many others better than him in the world.”

IShowSpeed reportedly “angered” Man Utd staff after invite to FA Cup after-party – Dexerto
IShowSpeed reportedly “angered” Man Utd staff after invite to FA Cup after-party X: @ishowspeedsuiIShowSpeed has allegedly angered Manchester United staff after the YouTube star was seen at the club’s FA Cup victory after-party. The 19-year-old attended Manchester United’s FA Cup final clash against rivals Manchester City on May 25 — where he watched the Red Devils lift the trophy for a 13th time in the club’s history. Later that night, Speed shared photos across social media with United star Alejandro Garnacho and manager Erik ten Hag at the club’s after-party. However, Man Utd staff are reportedly unhappy with the YouTuber’s presence at the celebration, which he wasn’t invited to, according to the DailyMail. Reports also claim the United staff party was axed by Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the INEOS as they cut down on costs. While staff are allegedly aggrieved, IShowSpeed’s cameraman ‘Slipz’ hit back in a post on X, claiming the two were invited by the players and “embraced” by everybody at the party “Invited by players, embraced by everyone including the manager once there,” he wrote. The YouTube star got himself caught up in a heated argument with several United fans at the game as he urged them to cheer on the team. Fortunately for Speed, he wasn’t attacked, unlike last year’s final. His larger-than-life personality and non-stop grind are paying off for the young star, making him a top dog in the streaming world. Fans are noticing his hustle too, praising Speed and his team for their impressive marketing and never missing a beat when it comes to making viral content. Speed recently made headlines after bizarrely attending Gloucestershire’s annual cheese competition, where he took part in the event and somehow finished fourth with absolutely no preparation beforehand.

‘Inexperienced’ Chelsea can move to next phase of ‘transition’ with Carabao Cup semi-final win – Dexerto
‘Inexperienced’ Chelsea can move to next phase of ‘transition’ with Carabao Cup semi-final win Chelsea FC/YouTubeChelsea may be in the midst of a transition, albeit a very expensive one, but they are 90 minutes away from a cup final in Mauricio Pochettino’s first season in charge. The Blues will have to come from behind to beat Championship side Middlesbrough at Stamford Bridge this evening, having lost the first leg 1-0 at the Riverside Stadium. In a season where they are not competing in Europe and are ninth in the Premier League despite spending over £1billion in transfer fees since Todd Boehly took over the club in 2022, the Carabao Cup could represent the beginning of a new era. Certainly, Pochettino wasn’t over-egging the pudding when he described tonight’s game as the ‘biggest’ of Chelsea’s season and it would go a long way to silencing any doubters over his position as well. Chelsea still at a ‘transitional stage’ The frustration among many Chelsea fans is that the Blues are still at a ‘transitional stage’ despite spending so much in transfer fees. Sure, the fact Pochettino is their fourth different manager inside 18 months means a transition has been necessary but their recruitment hasn’t been good enough. The signing of Cole Palmer has been one of the few bright spots but talkSPORT pundit Ally McCoist feels their other big name recruits need to do more to push Chelsea to the next level. “I think Chelsea need an out and out centre forward, but they’re also at a transitional stage where they need to get rid of players, and a few of them,” McCoist told talkSPORT Bet. “They would need to bring in four or five players that would go straight into the team to dramatically change them, so I can’t see it being a massive window for Chelsea. “It’s probably factually correct to say that Cole Palmer is the only Chelsea player to have come in and justified his price tag. I’ve been so disappointed in Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez. I’m looking for more from them for a quarter of a billion pounds!” Boro legend backs former side to put spanner in Chelsea works As such, there is genuine belief from the Middlesbrough end that they can come away from West London this evening as Carabao Cup finalists. Certainly that is the view of Boro legend Fabrizio Ravanelli, despite Michael Carrick’s men currently sitting 11th in the Championship table. “I think we have a big chance because Middlesbrough at this moment have confidence,” Ravanelli told Bitcoin Casinos. “They have a possibility to make history and get back into the final. We know it is very hard to go to Chelsea and get to the final, but in football everything is possible. “Chelsea are a fantastic team, but have many, many problems especially when the team needs to win the game because the defence has a lot of problems. “I see the games on Italian television and Chelsea have a lot of problems with their defence. If Middlesbrough defends well, on the counter-attack they can score. “A 1-1 draw to put Middlesbrough into the final – definitely. Me and my family will sit on the sofa on Tuesday night and watch the game in our Boro shirts to push the team into the final because it is on Italian television. This is 100 percent certain. “I want to support them at home as they try to create more history and make it to the final. This time they will win against Chelsea to go to the final. This will be great for the fans and also the chairman because Steve Gibson has sacrificed a lot for this team. He is fantastic.” Carabao Cup success would be huge for Pochettino and ‘inexperienced’ Chelsea Nonetheless, despite the turbulence and uncertainty that has underpinned the first six months of his reign, it would undoubtedly be a successful season for Pochettino if Chelsea could win the Carabao Cup. It would bring silverware back to Stamford Bridge after a two-year trophy drought since winning the Club World Cup in 2022, and would also guarantee a return to European football via the Europa Conference League. Certainly, former Blues favourite William Gallas thinks it will prove to be a big milestone for an ‘inexperienced’ Chelsea side. “The biggest issue with Chelsea is that they don’t have experience,” Gallas told Gambling Zone. “When someone says they are naïve, that’s because they are young and they make mistakes and when you play for a big club like Chelsea, you have to be ready straight away. “Experienced players around you will be different but right now there are more young players than experienced players. The starting XI against Fulham, how many experienced players were there? Maybe one or two in Enzo and Thiago Silva, who else? “It’s a big problem they have – maybe Raheem Sterling too – but it’s not enough for a big club like Chelsea. “Normally, Chelsea would beat Middlesbrough and get through to the Carabao Cup final. But they will have to beat Liverpool in the final and that’s another story. “If they win the Carabao Cup and qualify for Europe, then there’s no question that he has been a success this season. For a first season that would be a success.”

iShowSpeed met Inter Miami stars and fans can’t believe Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez interaction – Dexerto
iShowSpeed met Inter Miami stars and fans can’t believe Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez interaction YouTube/iShowSpeedFootball fans were denied a Cristiano Ronaldo-Lionel Messi reunion but there was no shortage of entertainment as Al-Nassr hit Inter Miami for six in Riyadh. An injury to Ronaldo rendered him unavailable for the game but he cheered his teammates on from inside the Kingdom Stadium, enjoying a rather more enjoyable night than his old foe. Messi came off the bench in the closing stages of the final fixture of the Saudi Arabia leg of Inter’s pre-season schedule but the damage had already been done by that point, with an Anderson Talisca hat-trick plus goals from Mohammed Maran, Otavio, and a 70-yard strike from Aymeric Laporte condemning the Florida-based side to a 6-0 defeat. The bizarre pre-match handshakes As seems to be customary with sporting events in Saudi Arabia, there was a ‘celebrity’ presence at the match, with viral video star and Ronaldo super-fan iShowSpeed in attendance. For some reason, Speed was involved in the pre-match handshakes, following Al-Nassr’s players and greeting football royalty in Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba. Shaking hands with Suarez, Speed appears to address him as ‘Sewers’, before greeting Busquets along the line and addressing the World Cup winner as ‘Sergio Biscuits’. Needless to say, the interactions split opinion, with plenty finding it funny but others questioning why he was there in the first place. One thing that does seem to be for certain, though, is that we’ll probably be seeing a lot more of him at football matches going forward, so we had all better get used to it!

Frank Lampard compares transfer windows at Everton to the ‘Wild West’ – Dexerto
Frank Lampard compares transfer windows at Everton to the ‘Wild West’ Stick to Football podcast.Frank Lampard has described Everton’s approach to the January transfer window when he was manager as the ‘Wild West.’ Chelsea legend Lampard was in charge of Everton for just under a year between January 2022 and January 2023 in a largely unsuccessful tenure. Although the former midfielder did keep the struggling Toffees in the Premier League in the 2021/22 season, he was eventually sacked with them sat down in 19th place on just 15 points last term. Now Lampard has revealed how chaotic the transfer window was at his old club. Transfer windows would scupper Everton’s ‘football plan’ Speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, Lampard said: “We got to the point where we were struggling for results come January, after the World Cup. “One of the problems I found at Everton was that we were trying to work a football plan – Kevin Thelwell came in as Sporting Director and Denise [Barrett-Baxendale] was the football plan recruitment – we were working towards it, but the minute January came, it was like the Wild West. Topic starts at 7:05 “Agents, and everyone, it was all about what it was going to be and who we could bring in. We were struggling to spend money because of the FFP situation, but I desperately wanted to bring in some players, and in the end after I’d left, where Sean Dyche came in the back end [of the season], he couldn’t make any moves anyways and Anthony Gordon left the club. “There was a lot of tension at the club through that and I think it would have been a build up over the past few years, I felt it from the minute I came in until the minute I left – it was almost like we were in a crisis but there is going to be another crisis, it was quite difficult. “We managed it when we stayed up that year, quite a lot of the plan was to build confidence and feeling and we managed to get over the line with that. But, the second season, towards the end, it was challenging. “They’ve spent a lot of money on recruitment, and it hadn’t been joined up and that’s come to roost now where we’re seeing the aftermath.” Frank Lampard was speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, brought to you by Sky Bet.

Fans think they’ve spotted Rey Mysterio at Man City vs Newcastle – Dexerto
Fans think they’ve spotted Rey Mysterio at Man City vs Newcastle FA/TwitterEagle-eyed football fans have joked they have spotted WWE wrestler Rey Mysterio at the FA Cup clash between Man City and Newcastle United. City kept their hopes alive of winning a second successive treble (Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup) with a 2-0 win over the Magpies in the FA Cup quarter-finals. Two deflected Bernardo Silva strikes proved to be the difference at the Etihad Stadium, as Pep Guardiola’s side joined Championship side Coventry City in the semi-finals of the competition. Rey Mysterio lookalike in the crowd But while City continue to make their own headlines on the pitch, one fan made headlines off it when he was picked up on the live broadcast in the stands. The fan was pictured wearing a mask reminiscent of wrestling superstar, Mysterio, and fans were loving it on social media. One City fan made light of the FFP charges City are facing, as he joked on X: “Blud is trying to take our charges from 115 to 619,” referencing Mysterio’s signature wrestling move. Another fan tweeted: “Who wears mask to watch a football ball game?” And another added: “The score is 61-9.” The FA Cup semi-finals line-up will be completed on Sunday when Chelsea take on Championship leaders Leicester City, while Manchester United host Liverpool, who can still win a quadruple in Jurgen Klopp’s final season in charge.

Ex-Chelsea favourite makes bizarre claim Steven Gerrard should be next Liverpool manager – Dexerto
Ex-Chelsea favourite makes bizarre claim Steven Gerrard should be next Liverpool manager Sky SportsSteven Gerrard would be a ‘brilliant’ manager for Liverpool if he replaced Jurgen Klopp. That’s according to former Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham defender William Gallas, who believes the Liverpool legend could have a similar impact as Zinedine Zidane did at Real Madrid if he returned to Anfield. Liverpool were hit with a bombshell last week when manager Klopp revealed he would be leaving his post after nine years in charge at the end of the season, citing his lack of ‘energy’ as a key reason for his departure. The Merseyside outfit will have a huge task on its hands to replace the iconic German, with another former midfielder in Xabi Alonso the early favourite. Yet, Gallas believes Gerrard, despite his failure at Aston Villa and the fact he is currently managing in Saudi Arabia, is the right man for the job. What Gallas said “There are going to be several candidates linked with replacing Klopp, but I think Steven Gerrard has a great opportunity to be the next manager of Liverpool,” Gallas told Genting Casino. “It’s a huge opportunity for Gerrard. Everyone knows that he would love to be the next manager of Liverpool. “Gerrard didn’t have a brilliant time at Aston Villa when he was the manager there, but I don’t think he was working with the best players. A coach needs to have great players. “His record at Rangers in Scotland was brilliant. He brought that club their first title in ten years, and he won it without losing a single game in the Scottish Premier League. He didn’t have world-class players to work with in Scotland, but they were great players for that level. “Those Rangers players gave him everything and they enjoyed a lot of success in a short period while he was managing the club. “His spell at Villa wasn’t good. The players he was managing there were not at his level, certainly not when he was a player. I think sometimes legendary players like Gerrard who go onto become managers need to manage players that are on the same level because they can become frustrated. “They can sometimes struggle to understand why players can’t do simple things or follow instructions because Gerrard didn’t have that problem as a player. “When you look at the players that Liverpool have, most of them are world-class players. The Liverpool players would be able to follow Gerrard’s instructions. “I think he could follow in the footsteps of someone like Zinedine Zidane, who managed world-class players at Real Madrid after a remarkable playing career. All of the Madrid players respected Zidane for what he won at the club as a player, and I think it would be exactly the same if Gerrard went into Liverpool. “The players will have so much respect for him and I think he would have a winning chemistry with them. I think it could work. I think he would be a brilliant manager at Liverpool.”

Erling Haaland roasts KSI after Man City deny Arsenal Premier League title – Dexerto
Erling Haaland roasts KSI after Man City deny Arsenal Premier League title Associated Press/YouTube: Side+Man City star Erling Haaland has sent a tongue-in-cheek message to die-hard Arsenal fan, KSI, after the Gunners missed out on winning the Premier League title on the final day of the season. The Premier League title race went to the wire, as Arsenal needed to beat Everton and hope that West Ham could win or draw against Man City to bring the top-flight trophy back to north London. Mikel Arteta’s side did their job as they beat the Toffees 2-1, but their efforts were in vain as Pep Guardiola’s men secured all three points over the Hammers to finish two points clear of Arsenal at the top of the table. Despite the 2023/24 season going down as a brilliant campaign from Arsenal, there were many fans left with a feeling of disappointment. KSI, well-known for his love of Arteta’s squad and a frequent spectator at the Emirates Stadium, had salt rubbed in the wounds by Man City striker Haaland after winning the league. In a video posted to social media, the Norwegian goal-machine drank from a bottle of Prime – KSI’s sports drink brand – as he delivered a message to the influencer after the full-time whistle. “KSI, it didn’t go [Arsenal’s way] this year either,” he began after the Gunners finished behind City for the second successive season. “But it’s not only negative news, there’s a big positive as well,” he continued as he held up a bottle of Prime to the camera. “So, I’m popping this one. Cheers, enjoy this bottle, it’s an amazing drink. Cheers mate, have a nice evening,” he concluded as he took a drink to end the video with a cheeky grin on his face. Haaland has been instrumental in helping City win their the Premier League for the last two seasons following his arrival from German side, Borussia Dortmund. The 23-year-old has won the Golden Boot in both league campaigns he has taken part in for the Blues, scoring 36 and 27 goals in the 22/23 and 23/24 seasons respectively. Arsenal, meanwhile, finished the season with the most goals scored (91) in their Premier League history, fewest goals conceded out of any team in the league, and a club-record 28 games won, amassing 89 points, but it was still not enough to overcome City’s haul of 91 points.

Ex-Arsenal favourite backs Mykhaylo Mudryk to come good at Chelsea one year after snubbing Gunners – Dexerto
Ex-Arsenal favourite backs Mykhaylo Mudryk to come good at Chelsea one year after snubbing Gunners Sky SportsToday marks one year to the day that Chelsea signed Mykhaylo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk in a deal worth £88.5million. After a much protracted transfer chase from London rivals Arsenal, it was the Blues who emerged victorious in the race to sign the highly rated winger. But it is safe to say things haven’t gone as smoothly as either party would have liked in his first year in the Premier League, given the finances involved in the deal to bring him to Stamford Bridge. Mudryk has four goals and four assists to his name during his first year in West London and it took him until October to find the net for the first time. The 23-year-old has come under his fair share of criticism but that can also be caveated by the fact he has worked with three different managers during his first year in a new league. But, under Mauricio Pochettino, there have been shoots of hope that he can rediscover the form that convinced Chelsea to spend so heavily on him 12 months ago. A vital stoppage time equaliser helped Chelsea beat Newcastle on penalties in the Carabao Cup quarter-final and the Blues are 90 minutes away from a cup final as a result. Crucial goals against Arsenal and Crystal Palace, as well as an assist in the win over Brighton & Hove Albion have further strengthened his credentials and the challenge now is for the Ukraine international to perform on a regular basis. Ex-Arsenal favourite backs Mudryk to ‘fulfil promise’ Certainly that is something former Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna believes he can do, backing Mudryk to ‘fulfil his promise’ in the Premier League. “I expect Mudryk to fulfil the promise he has at Chelsea and develop into a world-class player,” Sagna told Lord Ping. “For me, he is already a top, top player. “He joined the club when there were a lot of problems. There was a lot of negative energy at Chelsea and the players were suffering from a lack of confidence. “It’s not easy for a young player to come to a new club in a new country and perform straight away. It is even more difficult to do that when you join a club for a huge amount of money. People expect players that cost £100 million to win games on their own, but football doesn’t work like that. “He joined a team that had no confidence. It would be unrealistic for people to think that he would be Chelsea’s saviour. Football is a vibe, and you need all of your players to be in a good place to get the best out of them. “I think Mudryk’s performances are getting better. He is starting to adapt to the league and is improving with every game. He needs time to develop but he has shown some encouraging signs this season.”

Douglas Luiz responds to Rio Ferdinand dig after Manchester United win vs Aston Villa – Dexerto
Douglas Luiz responds to Rio Ferdinand dig after Manchester United win vs Aston Villa Sky SportsDouglas Luiz has explained his goal celebration against Manchester United after being mocked by Rio Ferdinand following Scott McTominay’s late winner. Luiz scored Villa’s equaliser against United and celebrated with a shimmy, which many assumed was aimed in the direction of United goalkeeper Andre Onana. Sky Sports presenter Kelly Cates added fuel to the fire by baselessly theorising that there might be some bad blood between Luiz and Onana, but Luiz said on Monday morning that it was simply a reference to carnival season in his home country of Brazil, which started on Saturday. Ferdinand asked if Luiz was ok, with several crying-laughing emojis, and Luiz simply responded: “I’m good, thanks. It’s just carnival time in Brazil.” Erik ten Hag was asked after the match if Luiz’s celebration had given United extra motivation to win but played down the significance of the incident. “I don’t have an opinion about that,” Ten Hag said. “I haven’t spoken to the players. Maybe it’s fuelling, I don’t know. I don’t think it is important. It is about us, we have to think about our game and not the opposition.” United’s win was one of their most important of the season as it keeps them within touching distance of Aston Villa and Tottenham who are currently fifth and fourth in the Premier League respectively. Next up for Ten Hag’s side are games against Luton and Fulham, before a trip to Nottingham Forest in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Dan Ashworth has shown how he will solve Manchester United’s £1.2billion problem YouTube/Newcastle UnitedManchester United are the biggest club in England and one of the biggest clubs in the world, but it’s a long time since they acted like that was the case. United were the Premier League champions when Sir Alex Ferguson left the club in 2013 and had won five titles in seven years, but they have not mounted a credible challenge since. United have won cups – four of them – but this is a club that expects to be competing for the biggest honours and they have contested just one Champions League quarter-final in the last 10 years. Ferguson’s departure triggered United’s downward spiral but, make no mistake about it – the rot had set in long before he stepped down. Huge success off the pitch but little on it The Glazers’ acquisition of the club in 2005 marked the beginning of a lengthy period of mismanagement on the sporting side of the club. Commercially, United continue to thrive despite years of uncompetitive showings in the biggest competitions, and one suspects that would be likely to continue were it not for the impending part-sale of the club. Thankfully for United’s supporters, Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s acquisition of a 25 per cent stake in United has received Premier League approval and when in position he will assume full sporting control. One of the key areas he will likely look to address is recruitment, where United have floundered over the past decade. United’s net spend on transfer fees since 2014 stands at an astronomical £1.2billion, with Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Erik ten Hag all backed handsomely in the transfer market. The lack of a cohesive long-term strategy, however, has often resulted in mishmash squads across that period. Ten Hag has a decent hit-rate in the transfer market but many believe he has been given too much control over transfers, with the Dutchman appearing to have a penchant for players he managed at his previous clubs, as well as players with Eredivisie experience. Mason Mount has been a catastrophic addition, while there was a panic-buy element to the acquisitions of Casemiro and Antony in 2022. Casemiro has been a decent addition but those players alone cost £200m and Ratcliffe will not stand for his resources being wasted. Newcastle’s sporting director, Dan Ashworth, has reportedly been targeted for a role under the Ratcliffe regime, and it will be a major coup for United to land him. Ashworth has developed an excellent reputation for recruitment: he was largely responsible for Newcastle signing the likes of Tino Livramento, Sven Botman, Nick Pope and Alexander Isak. Before joining Newcastle in 2022, he occupied a similar role at Brighton, signing Alexis Mac Allister, Moises Caicedo and Kaoru Mitoma. Mac Allister was scouted in Argentina, Caicedo in Ecuador, and Mitoma in Japan, and all have gone on to become key players in the Premier League. Once upon a time Ashworth also worked for West Brom and was responsible for them signing Peter Odemwingie, as well as securing a loan deal for Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea, both of which he previously ranked among his best-ever signings. If Ashworth ends up at Old Trafford, United fans might expect fewer blockbuster signings each year, but more calculated decisions in the transfer market, and hopefully more success on the pitch as a result.

Do Aston Villa have a buy-back clause for Jaden Philogene after Hull City wondergoal – Dexerto
Do Aston Villa have a buy-back clause for Jaden Philogene after Hull City wondergoal Sky Sports/YouTubeHull City star Jaden Philogene scored one of the goals of the season on Tuesday in what will surely be a contender for the 2024 Puskas Award. The England under-21 international scored the equaliser in the Tigers’ 2-1 win over Rotherham United in the Championship on Tuesday as they continued their push to win promotion to the Premier League. Philogene sent the away end into raptures at the New York Stadium as he picked the ball up inside the box, turning two defenders inside out before scoring with a ridiculous rabona strike which deflected in off Millers defender Cameron Humphreys. Clips of the goal have gone viral on social media but it was far from a one off this season. The 22-year-old has seven goals and five assists to his name this term and will surely attract Premier League interest in the summer. Can Aston Villa buy Philogene back in the summer? At the front of the queue may be Philogene’s former side Aston Villa. Unai Emery is a fan of the youngster and the decision to sell him came with the caveat of a buy-back clause. Villa have agreed a clause which means they can buy Philogene for £15million this summer, if Hull City are promoted to the Premier League. If another club betters that offer, though, City are in a position to accept that offer and Villa would have to match it in order to re-sign the player. “He’s not their player, he’s a Hull City player for sure, that I can tell you for sure,” Hull City vice-chairman Tan Kesler told Hull Live. “I love social media, I’m starting to love it even more. I’ve been open from the beginning and also you need to know, that if we promote Villa have agreed to a buy-back but only if we promote and we’re in the Premier League. “They still have to agree with the player and they still have to match, and this is very important, they still have to match if we receive another offer. “I think when the time comes, it would be a hefty deal for Villa to get him back, but they’re our friends so I’m not saying anything that I shouldn’t be saying here.”

Chris Sutton makes TikTok jibe to Rangers star after he sparked Old Firm brawl – Dexerto
Chris Sutton makes TikTok jibe to Rangers star after he sparked Old Firm brawl Sky SportsSky Sports pundit Chris Sutton hit out at Rangers star Todd Cantwell, after he sparked some unsavory scenes at full-time of the latest Old Firm derby between the Gers and Celtic. Rangers twice came from behind to secure a 3-3 draw at home to their Glasgow rivals to ensure the Scottish Premiership title race remains in their hands. Goals from Daizen Maeda and Matt O’Riley gave Celtic a 2-0 lead at Ibrox but Rangers hit back to level through goals from James Tavernier and Abdallah Sima. Adam Idah put Celtic 3-2 in front but a stoppage time equalizer from Rabbi Matondo ensured the two teams shared the spoils. But tensions spilled over at full-time as Cantwell pushed Celtic captain Calum McGregor before players from both sides rushed in to separate the pair. Former Celtic forward, Sutton, who was on co-commentary duties for Sky Sports, ripped into former Norwich City midfielder, Cantwell, and said: “Here’s the coming together at the end. Cantwell pushes out. I don’t know why he does that. It’s just daft from Todd Cantwell. Do your talking on the pitch, TikTok.” Celtic fans loved the jibe on social media but Rangers fans and neutrals were less than impressed with Sutton, who they felt lacked objectivity throughout the game. It isn’t the first time Sutton and Cantwell have come to blows, with Sutton taking aim at Cantwell in October after the Rangers star called out the pundit for his criticism of him. In response, Sutton said: “You know, he’s had another sort of pop this week. The thing I don’t understand, I genuinely don’t understand, is that there is that old adage in football of ‘do your talking on the pitch’. “I think at this moment in time, he’s away with the fairies! I really do. The sort of frustrating thing is that for someone who to date has had a bang average career, he doesn’t half have a high opinion of himself. “The truth is he’s he’s better known for his social media presence, being on TikTok, than he is for what he’s done on the pitch. If I was him, I’d want to address that. He needs to focus on his football.” The draw meant Celtic remain top of the league, one point ahead of Rangers, although Rangers can seize control of the title race by beating Dundee in their game in hand on Wednesday.

Arsenal feud played down as Unai Emery rattled by Newcastle coach – Dexerto
Arsenal feud played down as Unai Emery rattled by Newcastle coach TNT SportsThe Premier League returned in some style last night after the FA Cup break, with hat-tricks, shocks and records being broken on an exhilarating night of action. Arsenal kept the pressure on in the title race with a big win over Nottingham Forest, while Newcastle ended Aston Villa’s 17 match unbeaten run at home in the Premier League. Luton Town stunned Brighton and Hove Albion to climb out of the Premier League’s relegation zone at Everton’s expense after they drew at Fulham. And Crystal Palace twice came from behind against bottom side Sheffield United to give under pressure Roy Hodgson a much needed win. Here’s five things Dexerto Sports learned from the latest round of action. Arsenal’s forgotten man stars as duo clash Emile Smith Rowe returned to the Arsenal starting XI for the first time since October and the former England under-21 international impressed in their 2-1 win at Nottingham Forest. “I’m really pleased with Emile as well because it’s been a long time since he had an opportunity to start a game. He’s been training really well, really sharp,” manager Mikel Arteta said, describing him as a ‘beautiful footballer to watch’. But it was the post game feud between team-mates Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko that attracted the most headlines. Arteta played it down as the players ‘pushing each other’ and ‘demanding excellence’ after the Gunners lost their clean sheet late on. Arsenal may need to retain that edge if they are to mount a meaningful Premier League title challenge. Newcastle back to electric best as coach rattles Unai Emery Newcastle have been dreadful away from home this season, while Aston Villa were unbeaten in 17 Premier League home matches ahead of Tuesday’s fixture. So nobody saw the Magpies emerging from Villa Park with an emphatic 3-1 win which could revitalise their season. Eddie Howe’s men looked back to their electric best of last season which saw them qualify for the Champions League. At full-time, Unai Emery snubbed a handshake from Howe’s assistant Jason Tindall, who has become the subject of plenty of memes for his touchline antics, and social media predictably loved it. Free scoring Luton Town could still shock us all Luton Town jumped out of the relegation zone with a shock 4-0 win over high flying Brighton and Hove Albion on Tuesday, with Elijah Adebayo grabbing a hat-trick. In fact, the Hatters went 2-0 ahead inside two minutes and 17 seconds against Brighton. In Premier League history, only Leicester vs Derby in April 1998 have ever scored twice earlier from the start of a match. They did it in front of returning captain Tom Lockyer, who was at Kenilworth Road for the first time since suffering a cardiac arrest last month. The team spirit at Luton is palpable and the goals and results are beginning to follow. Odds on for relegation at the start of the season, Rob Edwards’ men may just defy the odds and achieve Premier League survival. Jordan Pickford sets Premier League pace despite Everton woes Everton dropped into the relegation zone as a result, despite picking up a valuable point at Fulham. Dogged by their 10 point deduction for FFP breaches, Everton would be in 12th place without being penalised. When you consider that, it perhaps makes it less surprising that Jordan Pickford’s clean sheet in the 0-0 draw at Craven Cottage was his eighth in the Premier League this season – better than any other goalkeeper. Crystal Palace duo give Roy Hodgson stay of execution Palace had won just one of their last 12 games heading into Tuesday’s clash with rock bottom Sheffield United. Therefore, defeat against the Blades could have left manager Roy Hodgson scrapping to keep his job. Twice they fell behind to Chris Wilder’s side but they emerged with a 3-2 victory, thanks largely to the brilliance of star men Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze. It gave Hodgson a stay of execution for now but Palace may well face a struggle beyond this season to keep Olise and Eze as they continue to attract admiring glances from elsewhere.

Brighton star cannot watch Sunderland ‘Til I Die after Sunderland nightmare – Dexerto
Brighton star cannot watch Sunderland ‘Til I Die after Sunderland nightmare YouTube/BHAFCSunderland ‘Til I Die is back – but one Premier League star is unlikely to be watching the third instalment of the much-loved Netflix series. Football fans have had to wait nearly four years for one of the most popular sports series in recent times to return, and the wait finally ended on Tuesday as a third season was released. Unlike the first two seasons, which followed the club across the entire 2017-18 and 2018-19 campaigns, this season focusses purely on Sunderland’s three League One play-off matches in 2022. One player who featured in the first season is Brighton star Jason Steele – but he says he has never actually watched the popular series due to the struggles he was going through in his career at the time. Steele had just experienced relegation to League One with Blackburn Rovers in 2016-17 when he was snapped up by Sunderland, who had just been relegated from the Premier League. Nightmarishly, another relegation followed as Steele and Sunderland dropped down to League One. Steele’s stay at the Stadium of Light would only last one year, and he was snapped up by Brighton in 2018, where he remains. “I have never watched that,” Steele said of the series last year. “My family have, but I was not in a good place as you can imagine. You go to a team that is local to you, you have a lot of friends and family that support the club. Things didn’t work out. “I didn’t play an awful lot and when I did I didn’t do myself any favours. I didn’t play at the level I know I can play for various reasons. The opportunity to come here [Brighton] came about and it was one that was exciting for me, a chance to find myself again on and off the pitch, and reconnect with my family again.”

Beta Squad vs AMP charity match called off after massive pitch invasion – Dexerto
Beta Squad vs AMP charity match called off after massive pitch invasion Beta SquadAt the 90th minute of the Beta Squad vs AMP charity football match on June 6, a massive pitch invasion completely halted the game. It’s since been called off, with neither team being able to finish the match the way they wanted. The Beta Squad vs AMP charity football match was a highly anticipated event that pitted some of the biggest content creators in the world against each other, all for the sake of raising money for charity. With over 600k viewers watching, excited to see the conclusion of the match that had a tied-up 6-6 scoreline at the 90th minute, disaster then struck when a pitch invasion forced organizers to cancel the event entirely. Pitch invasions normally aren’t that huge of a deal, with a recent example being one organized by Mellstroy that briefly threw the Champions League Final into chaos. The offenders are usually thrown out, and the match resumes. In the case of the Beta Squad vs AMP match, however, hundreds of people rushed the field all at once. Amid the chaos, the stream was cut off entirely and the game has since been called off. Neither Beta Squad nor AMP have commented on the situation or how the conclusion of the match will be determined. Additionally, details like who the masked mystery player is were never revealed due to the sudden nature of how the stream got cut off. Sharky, one of the competitors, went live on Instagram to confirm that the event’s been called and to condemn fans who rushed the pitch. He was saddened that neither side would get a trophy and was disappointed that the event ended this way. Despite this, the stream came back on 30 minutes after it went down. They claimed that there’d be a penalty kick-off to determine who wins. However, they were still having issues with getting fans off the field at that time. “We still want to do penalties, I think they’re clearing out the stadium right now, we’re gonna still try to have a penalty shoot out,” they explained. Kai Cenat wasn’t happy with how things ended, either: “That was my moment! Ya’ll ran out! Who won? Nobody. We don’t know. We’ll never know who won. 6-6, literally 3 minutes left on the pitch!” he exclaimed. The stream concluded with Kai Cenat proposing a rematch against Beta Squad in America to determine the real winner. With the penalties called off, the match ended 6-6 with no winner as a result of the pitch invasion.

AI image shows how new Old Trafford could look after Sir Jim Ratcliffe Manchester United update – Dexerto
AI image shows how new Old Trafford could look after Sir Jim Ratcliffe Manchester United update Midjourney/Instant CasinoA new AI-generated image shows what Manchester United’s new stadium could look like under plans to make Old Trafford ‘the Wembley of the North’. It is reported that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is in a hurry to make his mark at United having struck a deal to acquire a 25 per cent stake in the club last year. And near the top of Ratcliffe’s agenda is the state of United’s stadium. Old Trafford was once the Premier League’s leading venue but it has been surpassed in terms of modernity and functionality in recent decades. How United have fallen behind in recent times Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham are among the Premier League teams to have moved into new stadiums over the past two decades and Everton will soon follow suit, while Liverpool’s Anfield and Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium have both undergone significant expansions and refurbishments in recent times. An AI-generated image produced by Midjourney and courtesy of Instant Casino shows what a new Old Trafford could look like, and from above it bears similarities with Tottenham’s new stadium due to the bowl-shaped roof. It is yet to be decided whether United will choose to regenerate Old Trafford or build a new stadium altogether, but the Mail say there are concerns that a revamp, which, although a cheaper option, would still cost close to a £1billion, would only be a short-term fix. United already own a significant amount of land around Old Trafford, so building a new stadium altogether would not mean an upheaval in terms of the location of the team’s home matches. The Mail reports that United’s majority owners, the Glazer family, are happy for INEOS to take the lead on the new stadium.

YouTuber WhistlinDiesel reveals his own canned Premium Alcohol drink ‘Alcolo’ – Dexerto
YouTuber WhistlinDiesel reveals his own canned Premium Alcohol drink ‘Alcolo’ Instagram/whistlindieselPopular YouTuber Cody ‘WhistlinDiesel’ Detwiler is entering the influencer beverage game with his alcoholic drink ‘Alcolo.’ WhistlinDiesel is known for his wild stunts like destroying cars such as a Tesla Cybertruck and a Ferrari, but the creator also has a savvy business side. For instance, he launched his merch line dubbed MonsterMax and on August 13, revealed his latest side hustle: Alcolo. In an Instagram post, Detwiler announced he had spent the last year crafting Alcolo, calling it the “future of the beverage industry.” “Shipments will soon be rolling out to thousands of stores in early September,” he said. The drink comes in a 12OZ can and has an alcohol volume of 8%, making it stronger than most beers, but not as high as wine or spirits. The brand also confirmed that on Saturday, August 17, fans would be able to try out Alcolo for the first time at a “giant event in downtown Nashville.” In the comments, Detwiler denied claims by users that he had bought into an existing company and wasn’t actually starting his product. “People said I got paid to promote a drink, or another company. Which is far from the truth,” he explained. “This is something we conceptualized, built out, and presented to someone who could help produce it as efficiently as possible. This is no different than a company sending a factory a product order.” WhistlinDiesel is far from the first creator to enter the beverage game and likely won’t be the last. Most notably, Logan Paul and KSI have been extremely successful with the launch of Prime Hydration and its many flavors. Twitch and Kick streamer Amouranth also entered the alcoholic drink market with her own beer made by a Polish-based brewery. Disgraced YouTuber Dr Disrespect also released his own drink in the form of Black Steel Bourbon, but the company’s site has since been taken offline after the streamer admitted he was banned on Twitch for sending inappropriate DMs to a minor.

YouTuber in “pain” after attempting Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest qualifier – Dexerto
YouTuber in “pain” after attempting Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest qualifier YouTube: Sir YachtYouTuber Sir Yacht attempted to qualify for the iconic Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, but it didn’t go quite as planned on the day of the event. Every July 4, Nathan’s Famous International Hot Dog Eating Contest shows off some of the world’s best professional eaters as they power through dozens of the brand’s own hot dogs. Having won the contest 16 times throughout his life, Joey Chestnut is by far the most well-known professional eater, but he was banned from the 2024 event after promoting a vegan hot dog brand. YouTuber Sir Yacht is known for his various food challenges and set off to try to qualify for the contest through an event in his hometown. Unfortunately, a bout of anxiety on the day of the event caused less than stellar results. To start off the process, Sir Yacht reached out to his friend and top-rated eater Nick Wehry, who shared various tips for eating a large number of hot dogs and gave the YouTuber a goal of 22 hot dogs. Sir Yacht ended that phone call and began practicing his eating technique by going to a baseball game on “dollar dog night.” A few days later, he set up his own mock contest at home. The day of the event, though, Sir Yacht suffered from a bout of anxiety about his performance that took away a fair bit of his appetite. He started off slow, only eating one hot dog in the first 30 seconds of the event. It wasn’t long until he began getting full, though. “I very much considered walking off stage at many points of this competition just because of the pain I was feeling,” he said. “But then I realized all these hotdogs in front of me were free for me to consume.” As for how he did during the event, the YouTuber revealed he was only able to eat 10 hot dogs in the 10 minutes – calling himself ‘Sir Choke’ in the process. “I can’t be too mad at my performance today, I ate a bunch of hot dogs for free,” he said. But, you know I’m going to do this again to avenge myself and because I’m a moron that will probably forget how much pain I’m in currently.”

YouTuber eats nearly $200 worth of shrimp at Red Lobster in one sitting – Dexerto
YouTuber eats nearly $200 worth of shrimp at Red Lobster in one sitting YouTube: Sir YachtAfter finding out about Red Lobster’s impending bankruptcy, YouTuber Sir Yacht went to the restaurant to take advantage of its endless shrimp deal. Red Lobster revealed in May 2024 that its business is struggling, and it’s reportedly partially due to the company’s all-you-can-eat shrimp promotion. YouTuber Sir Yacht heard about this and made his way to a local Red Lobster in his area to see how much shrimp he could eat while the restaurant was open. “No, I am not trying to help bankrupt anybody. Honestly, I just love shrimp. It’s my favorite food, and I want to eat as much of it as I possibly can,” he explained. Sir Yacht started with two of Red Lobster’s breaded styles alongside one skewer of regular grilled shrimp but quickly decided that if he wanted to last all day — he had to stick with the less filling grilled version. “These out of all the other eating challenges are probably the hardest, where I just eat one type of food all day because I’ll develop flavor fatigue and get tired of eating shrimp,” the YouTuber said. With plans to eat 150 shrimp in the span of 10 hours, he managed to have 140 in just 6 hours. He was able to relax a little bit at that point, and frequently took breaks to go explore the local strip mall between plates. The man raised his goal to 200 shrimp, and managed to hit it during his last hour of being there. Sir Yacht shared that he had about $178 of product that day, and after subtracting the $25 cost of endless shrimp, Red Lobster lost about $153. While Red Lobster is facing financial struggles, the company revealed on May 16, 2024, that 87 locations across multiple states have been “temporarily closed.”

‘World’s most beautiful’ McDonald’s reopens with 5-star hotel comparisons – Dexerto
‘World’s most beautiful’ McDonald’s reopens with 5-star hotel comparisons TripadvisorA McDonald’s location that’s been dubbed one of the most elegant and extravagant of the chain’s stores has just reopened, and it feels like stepping into another world. We’ve heard of some pretty bizarre McDonald’s locations throughout the years, with perhaps one of the more unusual being one in New Mexico, which was modeled after a UFO and lives in a town obsessed with alien sightings. There are other McDonald’s locations surrounding the globe that appear to transport you back in time, like the one in Bordeaux, France. This one is modeled to look like a 1950s diner and comes complete with a ton of vintage McDonald’s memorabilia items, including an old-fashioned jukebox that lets you flip through a Rolodex of retro music. But perhaps one of the most glamorous McDonald’s locations in the world resides in Nyugati Railway Station in Budapest. Believe it or not, the station was designed by Austrian architect August de Serres, who later went on to help build the Eiffel Tower. It features an opulent design that still retains some of its original features, including antique lamps and painted stucco ceilings. The store closed its doors in January to undergo a big upgrade including touchscreen kiosks, but has now reopened to the public. It has been continuously referred to in the media as the ‘most elegant,’ McDonald’s location in existence, juxtaposed with modern features including a conveyor belt that allows you to see your food pass on a conveyor belt between the two levels of the kitchen. Tripadvisor users who visited the branch were captivated by its grandeur, writing: “The interior is absolutely beautiful and looks more like a restaurant in a 5-star hotel.” “This is the most beautiful McDonald’s I’ve been to, I’ve been here lots of times over the years and it still impresses me,” another wrote. “No one in the States believes me when I show my pictures and describe the beauty of, yes, a McDonald’s,” one claimed. This isn’t the only glamorous McDonald’s location to go viral on social media. Back in June, TikTok was in awe after a woman revealed a video of herself visiting the ‘McDonald’s McMansion.’

Woman’s cheese-cutting hack goes viral for creating “perfect” slices every time – Dexerto
Woman’s cheese-cutting hack goes viral for creating “perfect” slices every time TikTok: paperbelleA woman has gone viral on TikTok for sharing a cheese-cutting hack that ensures you’re left with “perfect” slices every time. Bella, who goes by ‘paperbelle‘ on TikTok, went viral after sharing online the “ultimate way to slice cheese,” garnering over 6.8 million views as dairy lovers flocked to see what the fuss was about. As it turns out, the answer to “perfect” thin slices is simple — all you have to do is use a peeler when divvying up a block of cheese. Bella revealed she had been using the hack for her “whole life”, demonstrating to viewers how the peeler resulted in a “very even” slice of cheese. While many viewers were impressed with the “clever” trick, Bella’s comments were quickly overrun with European users informing her that a “cheese slicer was invented in 1925 in Norway… and no ones cheese looks this rough.” Sure enough, Thor Bjørklund patented the official cheese slicer, better known as Ostehøvel. Viewers were stunned Bella had not previously heard of the popular device, claiming it was time to “internationalize the cheese slicer so people have the correct tools.” Bella made a follow-up video after the mass of comments informing her of the Ostehøvel, admitting she didn’t expect such an overwhelming response; “Your passion for cheese slicing is impressive.” “Intrigued” by the tool, Bella revealed she had ordered one for herself and would post a reaction video upon its arrival.

Instead of being topped with regular chicken pieces like you might expect, the cheese and marinara pizza was loaded with breaded and unbreaded chicken thighs and drumsticks. These were all clearly still on the bone. “I’m not complaining,” Fatima says, “I’ve just never seen a pizza like this.” TikTok stunned by unusual chicken pizza TikTok commenters were quick to react to the odd food item, and were put off by the unusual creation: “Not the full chicken pieces being garnish,” one wrote. Another stated that “the first red flag was it being square.” People urged the woman to complain to the restaurant about the concoction, while others were desperate to know where the pizza was actually from. After begging to know the location of the restaurant, one user claimed that they lived in the town where the pizza was being sold, claiming that it was from “Kupferquelle Resort.” Kupferquelle Resort is located in Tsumeb Namibia, Southern Africa. Wherever the pizza is really from, it’s certainly left us with more questions than answers.

Woman who assaulted Chipotle worker sentenced to work fast-food job for two months – Dexerto
Woman who assaulted Chipotle worker sentenced to work fast-food job for two months TikTok: newsnationnowAfter assaulting a Chipotle worker, a woman was sentenced by a judge to work two months at a fast-food restaurant. Rosemary Hayne, 39, became violent when she received a burrito bowl from Chipotle that was not to her liking. After it was made, Hayne hurled her burrito bowl at a worker at the register. Hayne was later sentenced to jail time but was given a reduced sentence if she agreed to work at a fast-food restaurant for two months. Woman says she threw her burrito bowl because it looked “disgusting” After throwing her burrito bowl at a Chipotle worker, Hayne was sentenced to 180 days in jail. She was also ordered to pay a fine. However, a judge asked Hayne during court if she’d like to “walk in their shoes” when it came to working as a fast food employee. Immediately, she agreed and was given a reduced sentence as long as she worked for two months at a fast-food restaurant for at least 20 hours per week. Though the judge gave her an ultimatum, he also raised the question of why she chose to throw her food at the worker. Hayne responded to the judge by saying, “If I showed you how my food looked and how my food looked a week later from that same restaurant, it’s disgusting looking.” Though it’s unknown if Hayne would be working at the same Chipotle where she assaulted a worker, the employee she threw her burrito bowl at ended up quitting her job. The internet has since raised over $7,000 on GoFundMe for the former Chipotle employee.

Woman who only orders kid’s meals claps back at trolls – Dexerto
Woman who only orders kid’s meals claps back at trolls TikTok: @thedisneygirlieA woman took to TikTok to share some bizarre comments people had made about her weight, and she decided to address them head on. People weighed in on the whole situation. Ashley, a well established food TikToker, often shares her hacks where she eats at popular chains such as Panda Express and Olive Garden, opting for children’s menu items. However, as she can only be seen ordering portions designed for children, many people began questioning what Ashley ate during the day. “I eat kids meals every day and rate them and review them to tell adults how to save money by ordering off of the kids’ menu,” she explains. “I often get asked what else I eat since I am eating that every day, especially since I am overweight and fat, so surely that’s not all I eat,” she says sarcastically, addressing the comments she receives. “I start my day with the largest iced latte possible, whole milk, so I keep my weight up,” she says humorously, before going on to say that she pairs this with a Dunkin’ Wake-Up Wrap or a Sam’s Club chocolate muffin. Ashley skips lunch, then has a children’s menu item for dinner. TikTok weigh in on woman only ordering kid’s meals After the video was posted on the platform, many had questions for her: “I always thought you couldn’t order a kids meal without a child. Are they not strict?” one asked surrounding the regulations at Panda Express. It seems so, as several credited Ashley, telling her that they now did the same when they visited the restaurant: “Do you really skip lunch? I could never! But thanks to you I now get Panda kids meals!” “As someone who is small and has major anxiety, I’m going to start eating kids’ meals. It’s cheap and will fill me up. Thank you for showing us what you eat,” another wrote. Another user sympathised with Ashley, as she’d also been fat shamed: “It baffles people that we can be fat without eating non stop. I eat one meal a day and I am fat and people don’t get it.” “You can’t tell me it’s only fat people that order large lattes. Or eat dessert,” Ashley replied, followed by a laughing emoji. Another TikToker went viral in October, when they revealed how users can get cheap meals on every visit to McDonald’s.

Woman warns old bottles of Kombucha could explode suddenly TikTok: morganlaubailey / Wikimedia CommonsA woman shared an unusual experience she’d had with bottles of Kombucha, and TikTok weighed in. A woman recently took to the platform sharing a video that was captioned “Not sure what kombucha has against me but… My wedding ring saved my finger though.” “This is a friendly reminder that if you have a bottle of Kombucha in your refrigerator, and it’s been kind of a long time… don’t touch it,” she warns ominously. “Get some oven mitts, maybe some… I don’t know, protective eye googles? It will blow up,” she states unabashedly, giving a thumbs up with her wrist bound up. TikTok weigh in on exploding Kombucha After the video was posted on the platform, people couldn’t wait to weigh in on the bizarre effects of the beverage. “Store bought or homemade? I’ll never kombucha again,” another asked, clearly dejected. “Also a friendly reminder to check your car for lost Kombucha in the winter… it will explode all over your car. Bonus points if there’s chia seeds,” another said humorously. “Folks I’m fairly certain since Kombucha has live cultures, they are multiplying and producing gas, and the glass will explode from pressure,” one user attempted to explain. Some were fearful of what might become of the long forgotten drinks; “I left a Kombucha bottle in the mini fridge at my parents house.. a year ago.. EXPLAIN,” they exclaimed. “Not your parents!” the video’s poster said in mock worry. Another beverage went viral on TikTok, after a dad conducted a bizarre science experiment involving Hawaiian Punch, and an egg.

Woman uses DoorDash driver to investigate if her husband is cheating Unsplash: marques thomasIn a block of text messages that’s been circulating on the internet, a woman put a DoorDash driver to work to find out if her husband was cheating on her. The first text message reads, “I just placed the taco order. I don’t want this actually delivered, there’s a $10 tip built in and keep the queso. My husband is supposed to be home alone while I’m visiting family. I just needed to know what cars are in the driveway. For the love of God, please don’t actually deliver this,” she pleads. “So just to clarify, you don’t want me to deliver the food, you just want me to drive by the house at the address you gave and let you know which cars are in the driveway?” they ask. “Yes! Keep the food, and I added a $10 tip when I placed the order,” she clarifies. “Alright, I’m at the line in Del Taco at the moment, but I’ll let you know when I go by,” the message finishes. After the post was made on the platform, people were left reeling by the alleged DoorDash interaction. “Yes I’m waiting for the day I get one of these. I’ll take photo and video too make sure I have solid evidence for my customer,” a fellow DoorDasher wrote. “I’d love an order like this. Free food, a big tip, and a little adventure. Would definitely make my night,” another agreed. Many were eager to know what happened next, writing: “I need closure…. Were there cars? Was there really a $10 tip? What’s the story that led up to this? And whether there were other vehicles or not, how does this story end?” “There needs to be a show about crazy DoorDash stories. This is one of the most bizzare ones I’ve read,” one suggested. Sadly, there’s been no update about the outcome of the DoorDasher’s ‘investigation’. In another odd DoorDash story, a US Navy Vet left a bizarre note for their delivery person.

Woman uses Keith Lee profile on Uber Eats to get better service – Dexerto
Woman uses Keith Lee profile on Uber Eats to get better service Instagram: ubereatsA woman admitted using Keith Lee’s name on Uber Eats to ensure she received better service. Keith Lee is one of the biggest food critics, having discreetly made his rounds in restaurants all across America. He’s also known for reviewing food without making any contact with employees so that service isn’t swayed any differently than it would be had the food not been ordered by a celebrity. However, dropping his name doesn’t hurt — and one woman has the proof. Viewers admit to using celebrity names to get better food service After receiving a Chipotle bowl that was “so f*cking heavy,” as it was loaded with ingredients, a woman copped to using Keith Lee’s name on her Uber Eats profile to order it. Satisfied, she took to the internet to share a video of her food with a text overlay that read, “Go ahead and change your Uber Eats account name to Keith Lee.” In her now-viral video, the woman can also be heard excitedly fawning over her food while she poured vinaigrette atop her very full Chipotle bowl, “Are we sh*tting me? Like, what?!” Those who have viewed the video of the woman explaining how she changed her Uber Eats name to Keith Lee reacted by saying they do the same thing, but with different celebrities like “Lil Baby and NLE Choppa.” There were also viewers who work in the service industry who have received orders on a daily basis from people saying their name is Keith Lee. However, one viewer did call the woman out for using Keith Lee’s name on Uber Eats, as it’s well-known that he doesn’t use his name while placing orders.

Woman under fire after threatening to “end it all” over McDonald’s Apple Pie Instagram: mcdonaldsIn a viral video, a woman threatened to “end it all” if a McDonald’s drive-thru worker doesn’t serve her apple pie. In a video that’s gone viral on TikTok, amassing almost 1 million views, TikToker Jas can be seen ordering an apple pie at McDonald’s, only to be told that they were out. Instead of accepting the drive-thru worker’s offer of a different selection of pies, Jas’ response was pretty extreme, to say the least. “Alright, that is the last straw, I’m ending it all tonight,” she informs her, to which the worker quickly responds that she can prepare it for her if she’s willing to wait nine minutes. “Two things we learned tonight,” she says. “One: if you want to get your way, just threaten to (kill one’s self). Two: nine times out of 10 if they say they don’t got something, they just ain’t got it ready, just ask them to drop that s**t if you’ll wait,” Jas concludes at the end of the video. Woman threatens to “end it all” if McDonald’s doesn’t serve her apple pie After the video was posted on the platform, many commenters thought that Jas’ actions were incredibly questionable. “Why did you stress her out like that?” one asked, while another said that if she were the worker, she would have “told you to do it.” Many were touched by how kind the McDonald’s worker was in assisting Jas, writing that she was: “The nicest McDonald’s worker I’ve ever heard.” “Shorty said “uhhh if you wanna wait” she was not tryna be the reason you went,” another stated. Woman trashes Taco Bell after staff refuses to give her free food – Dexerto
Woman trashes Taco Bell after staff refuses to give her free food Instagram/avscannernewsA woman started trashing a California Taco Bell location after the restaurant reportedly refused to give her any free food. Taco Bell’s affordable items have been a hit with customers despite the occasional menu hiccup such as the Baja Blast Pie, but one woman made employees’ lives a living hell when she couldn’t get any food. In a video making waves on social media, a woman at a Taco Bell at Division and Palmdale Blvd in Palmdale, California was furious about not getting any free tacos. The shocking footage, seemingly filmed by an employee, shows the woman emptying trash all over the floor while ignoring staff demanding that she leave the premises. Woman throws garbage at Taco Bell employees in viral meltdown Footage of the incident was originally uploaded to Instagram by Avscannernews with the caption, “Customer upset over not getting free food.” “You gotta get out!” the staff yelled as the woman dumped garbage out of a bag. “I didn’t let you starve. I didn’t let you get hurt. I was there for you. I built this town!” she cried. “Get the hell out!” As the angry customer threw the garbage bin at staff, she ended up tripping and falling before picking it up and tossing it across the counter successfully. After a bit more yelling, the video eventually ended with one employee saying the police were on their way. It’s not known if the woman was arrested or if she faces any charges. This is hardly the first customer freakout to go viral on social media. Last year, a man destroyed a McDonald’s in a fit of rage all over two bags of fries.

Woman under fire after refusing to pay $150 towards meal with friends – Dexerto
Woman under fire after refusing to pay $150 towards meal with friends TikTok: @remiandaryanA woman came under fire when she shared a recent dining experience that turned out to be a complete nightmare, after she was expected to pay $150 for a $50 meal. In a TikTok video that’s accumulated over 1 million views, a woman took to the platform to share a story about a birthday dinner she attended with her friend, along with several other people she didn’t know. Remi explains that she is a single mother, and is therefore cautious about how she budgets her money. In order to still make it to the birthday meal, she carefully budgeted $50, which was the set cost of the meal per head, excluding drinks. She also brought along a coupon to make things even cheaper. However, her troubles began when several of the people there left without paying their bills. She suspects that they left the money with the host, but is then shockingly asked by the remainder of the party to pay $150, to “float the bill” when she only ordered the set $50 meal. She says she could only pay the $50, and as a result, she claims: “She was irritated with me… but I was like, this was not my thing. I am a single mom. You did not clear this. We did not talk about this.” “Never sit down to eat with a group without first clearing (budgets) with everybody,” she advises. TikTok weighs in on woman expected to contribute $150 for meal After the video was posted, a wealth of comments followed. Many people were quick to jump to the woman’s defense, and shared that they’d experienced similar situations: “I’m not cheap, but it really bugs me when people order extra bottles of wine, dessert and then they want to split the bill.” Many felt thankful for their own friendship groups, writing: “Damn, I guess I’ve got a solid group of friends. We always assume we are paying for our own meals unless someone says otherwise.” “Always tell the waiter that your check is separate as soon as you sit down. No grown adult should expect others to pay for them,” another suggested. However, some thought Remi was in the wrong for attending the meal in the first place, stating: “Also, if you don’t have money, don’t go. Don’t put yourself in bad situations.” “If you can’t afford it, don’t do it. That was one thing my mother taught me,” another concurred. Another TikToker went viral, after she posted a video showing her and her friends being given a $100 bill, for a meal they thought was complimentary.

Woman stunned to find Valentine’s Stanley cups “just sitting” at local Target – Dexerto
Woman stunned to find Valentine’s Stanley cups “just sitting” at local Target TikTok: @kenyandthejetsA woman was shocked after she found limited edition Valentine’s day Stanley cups stocked at her local Target. Fans will be well aware of all the craze surrounding the pink Stanley cups. This led to a whole bunch of bizarre situations in January, one of which involved a man jumping the counter at Target to grab one. Others were scammed on eBay into paying 150 dollars for a photograph of these coveted cups. So, you can imagine a woman’s reaction to finding these cups simply lying around at her local Target, long after the initial craze had passed. But, that’s what happened to Kenya, who filmed herself picking up one of the Valentine’s cups at Target. The text overlay reads, “I’m sorry, this is the Stanley cup y’all went crazy for? Just sitting at my local Target.” TikTok weigh in on woman finding Valentine’s Stanley cups in Target After the video was posted on TikTok, people couldn’t wait to discuss the limited edition cups simply lying around in the store. One felt disgruntled, speculating that they’d restocked without telling people: “I do think there’s something shady about limited releases failing to mention that they’ll restock.” “I have a feeling these were returned!” the creator responded. “Y’all I don’t have a Target near me. Someone buy one and I’ll literally buy it from you and give you extra money I want it so bad,” a desperate viewer wrote. Some however, were totally over the craze surrounding the cups, writing: “I don’t get the craze. I like mine, she’s light pink and cute but people waiting in line and sprinting through stores for a cup?” “Seriously, like, it’s a thermal cup! Am I missing something?? My Ozark Trail one works great. So does my other off-brand one,” another stated. Another woman has gone viral, after she predicted the next trend that’s set to replace Stanley cups.

Woman takes grandpa to Target just so she can buy another Stanley cup – Dexerto
Woman takes grandpa to Target just so she can buy another Stanley cup Instagram: tumblershop22A Reddit user revealed a bizarre situation where a person took their grandpa to Target in order to secure another coveted Stanley cup. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll have surely heard of all the craze surrounding the coveted pink Stanley cups. People have been camping outside of Target for hours to try and secure these limited edition items, leading to several heated scuffles. One man even jumped a counter at Target to get his hands on one. One of the reasons why these items are so highly sought after is that they’re limited to one to two per person. This has led many people to take drastic measures in order to collect them. Grandpa taken to Target to get an extra Stanley cup In a Reddit thread, users debated why the Stanley cups were so popular. Some just didn’t get it, writing: “Am I the only one who doesn’t like these huge cups? They’re bulky to carry around and annoying af. I have a slim one that I got for like $15 at the grocery store.” “I think obsessing over a cup brand is weird,” another concurred. This led some users to share experiences of the measures people took to secure these exclusive items. “It’s insane. My friend went to another town to get it. My other friend went and brought her grandpa too to get one for our friend who was at work.” “I don’t get it,” she writes about the situation. “It’s pretty but the resale and trade value are extreme.” “It looked like black Friday from back in the day. I wouldn’t get outta bed for one if they were selling door to door, let alone stand in line or fight over them,” another said. One user concluded that people were going to “overpay the hell out of someone,” to grab one of the cups after they were sold out. The Reddit user is correct about the cups’ trade values, as these coveted cups are currently being sold for $500 on eBay. Woman stunned after getting viral heart-shaped Walmart birthday cake – Dexerto
Woman stunned after getting viral heart-shaped Walmart birthday cake TikTok: @fearlessmcoIn a TikTok video, two women were absolutely stunned after they ordered a viral vintage heart-shaped cake from Walmart, with several commenters stunned after having paid five times the price for a similar cake elsewhere. The video was first uploaded on September 5, when user Kala revealed the custom cake she’d ordered was in fact, from Walmart’s bakery. She gleefully addressed viewers in the video, with a look of disbelief still etched on her face, stating: “Bro, I literally cannot y’all, It looks just like the picture. Hold on.” She turned the camera around so viewers could see the cake box in full view, before lifting the lid up to reveal the words ‘Twenty fine’ written in brown-colored lettering. “I’m gonna crash out and scream. It looks so good,” she said excitedly. The video went super viral on the platform, racking up over seven million views, with users equally amazed by the cake shown in the clip. “Lmao I paid $125 I could’ve just gone to Walmart?” one asked, clearly disappointed that they’d missed out. “My birthday is in seven days… this gotta be a sign to go to Walmart,” another wrote. “Walmart EATSS! But $17?!? Wow, I’m about to buy one just because,” a third concurred. Some asked how Kala managed to order the viral heart-shaped cake, as they’d had some trouble getting one from their local store. Though the cakes can be ordered online, Kala explained that she’d physically gone to the store to make her custom order request. “Go to the bakery area and let them know that you want to customize a cake for your birthday or whatever,” she explained. It turned out that Walmart don’t actually make heart-shaped cakes as one of their standard products, but the baker she spoke to that day made an expectation: “She actually was not supposed to do that. But she did it for me anyway because I told her that I was not going to complain.” Kala isn’t the only fortunate Walmart customer who’s managed to grab one of these coveted cakes. Back in April, another customer managed to snag a zodiac-sign cake from their store for a price that left viewers shocked. But Walmart isn’t the only chain that hosts unexpectedly cheap birthday treats. In 2023, a woman managed to get the “cheapest birthday ever” at Costco, including five hot dogs, a chicken bake, a chicken Caesar salad, a cheese pizza pie, sodas, and even a whole birthday cake for $30.

Woman smashes Walmart McDonald’s customer with baby chair for “touching her ass” – Dexerto
Woman smashes Walmart McDonald’s customer with baby chair for “touching her ass” X/6ixbuzztvA Walmart Mcdonald’s turned into a hardcore WWE match when a woman used a chair to attack a man who she claimed touched her inappropriately. McDonald’s and Walmart have had their share of violent conflicts over the years with countless fights breaking out in each establishment, so it was only a matter of time before an altercation involved both companies. In a new video uploaded by Ontario-based entertainment account 6ixBuzz, a woman started freaking out about something while complaining to McDonald’s employees. “I’ll crack your skull in this b*tch,” she warned as a staff member called out her order number. Woman attacks man with chair at Walmart McDonald’s Before taking her food, the woman grabbed a high chair meant for babies and slammed it right on the man’s head from behind. As the woman tried to leave, the man demanded someone call the police as he chased after his attacker who was making her way through the Toronto Walmart. “Shut the f**k up, you touched my ass!” the woman roared as the person filming tried to remain inconspicuous. “You assaulted me!” the man shot back, only to be warned by the woman that he would “f**k him up” if he continued. The video ends before any action is taken and it’s unclear if police were called or if things escalated. A McDonald’s employee from the location told Dexerto that staff were not briefed on the situation or its aftermath. This is hardly the first time a chair has been used as a weapon in a restaurant. In 2022, a woman went viral for catching a chair during a huge Waffle House brawl. Last year, girls hit a man with a chair and even pistol-whipped him after he hit them first.

Some, however, thought that commenters were being too harsh, writing: “Have some consideration for drivers… I just meet them outside and make it easier.” “No cause why am I getting paid the same to drop it off at someone’s one floor doorstep vs someone’s maze of an apartment building. And no parking,” a delivery driver defended. Another delivery driver went viral after they charged a woman for 3 tips and didn’t even deliver the meal.

Woman slams McDonald’s for taking McGriddle off all-day menu TikTok: Yellz1/Wikimedia CommonsA woman has taken to TikTok to slam McDonald’s for taking the McGriddle off its all-day menu, saying that doing so is when the world “went downhill.” McDonald’s decided to remove their all-day breakfast menu just a few years ago, and it enraged many fans of the popular fast-food restaurant. On that breakfast menu was the McGriddle, a breakfast sandwich that uses syrup-filled pancakes as the buns instead of an english muffin, bagel, or bread. TikToker yellz1 took to the platform on February 22, 2024, to slam the restaurant for making the change — claiming that’s what caused the world to ‘start going downhill.’ Woman slams McDonald’s for removing McGriddle “I genuinely think the world went down hill when McDonald’s took away the $2 Sausage McGriddle off the all day [breakfast] menu,” she said in the clip. “Genuinely, people used to be happier. You used to be able to go to McDonald’s at 5:47pm and get a Sausage McGriddle…this is why people are depressed. This is why people are anxious.” Yellz also mentions in the clip that the sandwich is now double the price. According to the mc-menu website that compares prices, the cost of a Sausage McGriddle in California is $4.69 while the average cost is just $2.71. Users took to the comments to share their thoughts as well, with many agreeing with the TikToker. “i didnt really like mcdonalds breakfast until i got the mcgriddle tho, so you speaking facts,” one user replied. Another said: “I 100% agree with you and they took all that happiness away from us.” “I remember when the regular sausage biscuit was a dollar and a hash brown was a dollar,” a third user commented.

Woman shamed by Uber Eats driver who told her to ‘reconsider’ ordering Plan B Instagram: ubereatsA woman was shamed by an Uber Eats delivery driver, after she ordered plan B, and they told her to ‘reconsider.’ A woman took to Reddit to post about a recent Uber Eats delivery that caused her some distress. In the post, she says that it was raining outside, however, she needed to get Plan B delivered to her home. After calling the delivery service, she says that the driver lingered in CVS for around 30 minutes picking up her order. Then she says that he sent her the following message: “[I] can not accept and deliver this knowing what it [will] do.” He also stated that he “hope[s] you reconsider,” finishing the message with the words “God bless.” “I’m kinda embarrassed and also a little upset. Not really sure what to do,” she wrote.”I understand if he didn’t want to because of his beliefs but sending me a message like that is way overstepping. I already felt kinda guilty ordering it & told myself I was being dumb, then my worst fear happens.” People weigh in on Uber Eats Plan B shaming After the post was made on Reddit, people were quick to share their frustrations over the driver’s behavior. “Regardless of beliefs- if this guy didn’t want to complete your order, he also should have had it reassigned to another driver so your order could rightfully be completed on your end instead of holding the order basically hostage.” “He’s not the asshole for canceling the order. He’s the asshole for proselytizing and throwing it in her face,” another weighed in. One Redditor attempted to explain what was going on, writing: “Plan B is considered an abortion by some religious people. I think it’s the ideology that you’re inhibiting conception, therefore playing God in a sense. I think that’s what he’s alluding to. I would be confused, too; I’ve had to use Plan B several times. Don’t be embarrassed. You are being responsible.” Another Uber Eats customer went viral, when they sparked debate with their ‘hack’ for getting free food.

Woman shocked as husband gifts ridiculous amount of cheese for Valentine’s Day wafflecasserole/TikTokTikTok user Paige Noelle was shocked when her husband brought home a 35-pound block of cheese for her for Valentine’s Day instead of the flowers she was expecting. February 14, or Valentine’s Day, is known as the most romantic day of the year as it gives people a full day to express their affection for their loved ones. A big thing to do on the day of love is to give their loved ones flowers and chocolates, or to cook them a nice meal, but this has clearly become too boring for some people. TikToker Paige Noelle posted a video on Valentine’s Day that showed her holding a 35-pound block of cheese that her husband decided to give her instead of the flowers she was expecting. Husband surprises wife with 35-pound cheese block She wrote on the video: “My husband went to the store to get flowers and the flowers were $60 and this 35lbs block of cheese was labeled wrong and only $7 so he went with that instead.” The video, which has been viewed four million times in just two days, sees Paige holding the giant block of cheese when her husband behind the camera is heard telling her: “Just hold it like a fish.” Paige just laughs while struggling to hold it, as she tells her husband: “Hold it- what do you mean hold it? It’s 30 pounds of cheese! I can’t hold it like a fish.” Click here if video doesn’t load The husband then asks her if she can hold it above her head, which she laughs off as she continues to struggle to hold the giant cheese block. She then lets their young daughter Remi try to hold it, but it’s clearly too heavy as it’s almost half the size of the young child, so the mom quickly puts it on the dining table instead. “We don’t give our girls flowers, we give them blocks of cheese,” the husband says before the video ends. Thousands of viewers took to the comments to express their amazement with the price of the cheese and wondered how the husband had found it. Click here if video doesn’t load “I’m assuming it was misprinted from per lb to each. That’s a $245 gift, who wouldn’t be excited,” one person wrote, while a second person said: “Cheese is so $$$! Cut it down, vacuum seal, and freeze. What a dream! The gift that keeps on giving. Plus I love a good bargain.” “If someone gave me that much cheese I’d cry tears of joy,” a third user wrote. In a follow-up video, Paige asks viewers for their best recipes with cheese as she’s struggling to figure out how to use it all. She also said she’d told her husband it’s now a new tradition, and that she’s expecting a big parmesan cheese wheel for their 50th anniversary.

TikToker, Myriam Estrella, accumulated over 170,000 views after she showed people how she managed to cut food costs while visiting Disney World. “This $8 Disney meal hack is insane,” she captioned the video. Myriam had managed to grab a full meal at the park, including a drink for only $8, noting: “There is no meal at Disney that is as cheap as $8 with a drink. Usually, that’s at least $20.” In this hack that she posted, Myriam ordered what appeared to be a kid’s meal. We see a smaller portion of salmon, green beans, french fries, and rice, along with a drink, which the TikToker claimed was more than enough to fill you up after a long day of exploring. “Disney can be incredibly expensive, but it doesn’t have to be expensive, like with these little hacks,” she concluded in the video. According to the comments section, the place where she grabbed the value meal was Harbor House, which can be found at Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom Park. Many had already discovered the hack themselves, writing: “Best kept secret! You get the most goods there for your buck. The three seafood combo is enough for two people.” Another added: Literally knew exactly where you were eating before you even showed your food! One of our favorite places to eat.” “Always buy a kid’s meal. It’s so much food and it’s so cheap!” one user wrote, agreeing with Myriam. Some had their own hacks, telling fellow visitors: “The real hack is making note of which QSRs let you fill up your own drink. BOOM! Unlimited refills!” “You should see the kids’ meal at Connections Cafe. A HUGE slice of pizza, two sides, and a drink for $8,” another said. Disney Parks also went viral back in April, after it was revealed that one of their most popular rides was getting its own movie.

Woman refuses to tip server for calling her husband “sweetheart” – Dexerto
Woman refuses to tip server for calling her husband “sweetheart” X/WeThePeople021/PixabayA woman’s refusal to tip her server for calling her husband “sweetheart” has enraged the internet. The concept of tipping has raised many debates over the years. From long-winded discussions about it in Quentin Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs to TikToks in 2024, tipping remains a hot topic. In recent months we’ve seen a variety of tip-related videos go viral such as DoorDasher eating a customer’s order and a boba store not even having a “no top” option. Now, a woman has sparked backlash after revealing she didn’t tip was because her server was a bit too friendly with her husband. Server gets zero tip for calling customer “sweetheart” In a video uploaded to X by user ‘Constitutional Gator,’ a woman recorded herself filling out her receipt and the tip option after ordering $25.17 worth of food. Instead of writing in a tip amount, the woman instead instructed that her server use a different choice of words when referring to her husband. “Don’t call my husband sweetheart,” she wrote, declining to tip in the process. Users were not impressed with the woman’s actions and immediately took the side of the server. “People like this will always find an excuse not to tip,” one wrote. “Every Waitress here calls me and Husband hon or sweetheart. Imagine being so fragile and insecure,” another blasted. Others thought that the woman wasn’t from the same location as the server and simply misinterpreted her “Southern charm.” Obviously a very jealous, hateful northerner who doesn’t understand “Southern Charm”. — Ken W. (@tampa_npa) February 19, 2024 I’m betting this was a place in Florida, Texas or someplace in the south as it’s common for men and women to use such terms as a form of innocent affection to make someone feel comfortable. “I’m betting this was a place in Florida, Texas or someplace in the south as it’s common for men and women to use such terms as a form of innocent affection to make someone feel comfortable,” someone else chimed in. “They must not be in Tennessee because every time we go down there that’s what all the waitresses call me,” another user replied. “My wife just laughs and reminds me that they apparently don’t know me very well at all.” It’s not known exactly where this customer dined or when this video was filmed, but that hasn’t stopped it from going ultra viral, amassing over 18M views in just one day.

Woman reportedly fired after telling McDonald’s employee to “get a career” – Dexerto
Woman reportedly fired after telling McDonald’s employee to “get a career” Twitter: Yegwave/Unsplash: @visualbywahyuA woman has reportedly been fired after telling a McDonald’s employee to “get a career” during a spat in the drive-thru. With millions of people posting videos across social media each day, there’s no telling what could become the next viral hit. From restaurant food tips to a woman building a tunnel under her house and even a brawl in the middle of the road, the possibilities are endless. Now, a woman has reportedly been fired after telling a McDonald’s employee to “get a career” during a spat in the drive-thru. Woman tells McDonald’s employee to “get a career” In a post from Yegwave on Twitter/X, you can see a video seemingly filmed by the McDonald’s employee that shows a couple in their car arguing with the employee. The couple reportedly declined to park their car to wait for food, instead asking for a cash refund. However, it appears that the couple paid in debit and could only get their refund through that method. “A dispute arose, leading to a confrontation during which the woman called the worker a loser, asked her where she’s from, and told her to get a career. The man also warned the employee about his Instagram account, which has 50K followers,” the tweet says. In a follow-up tweet, Yegwave says that the owner and general manager of the woman’s workplace has confirmed to them in DM’s that she was fired from her job. “My name is Marco and I am the owner and acting general manager,” reads the message. “We do not condone that type of language and she is no longer employed at this company. “This video does not reflect the values or viewpoints of the employees who work here or the family that owns this business. All four of our grandparents were immigrants to Canada as well as many of our employees.” This isn’t the first drive-thru spat at McDonald’s in recent months, either, as a woman recently went viral for ranting about having to park and wait for food.

Woman refused refund after discovering “spiders” in her seafood order – Dexerto
Woman refused refund after discovering “spiders” in her seafood order TikTok: oatsfinessinnA woman was left disgusted after discovering her seafood order included “spiders,” with the restaurant responsible refusing to refund her. Archelle, who goes by ‘oatsfinessinn‘ on TikTok, went viral on the social media platform after posting a 43-second clip showing some unexpected additions to her seafood order. Having purchased 10 pounds of crawfish from the Shrimp Dock with plans to heat the food once home, Archelle was horrified to find “spiders” in the mix. The video shows her carefully pulling the eight-legged arachnids from a pot of crawfish, before displaying them on a plate for viewers to see. “Over here [trying to] find out if these are spiders in my crawfish?!” Archelle captioned. In the video, her son can be heard questioning where the spiders came from and whether or not they were real. In a follow-up TikTok, Archelle offered an update on how she found the spiders, as well as the restaurant’s response to her complaints. She explained, “Yes. I got them from the Shrimp Dock. I purchased 10 pounds. They were $14 a pound. They were cold when we made it home, we warmed them up in a pot.” A screenshot of her messages with the Shrimp Dock’s manager showed Archelle stated; “Seeing this was very unappealing for us. It’s unfortunate but we didn’t eat the rest after seeing this. Can we get a refund?” However, the manager was not willing to grant Archelle’s request, responding, “I can’t offer you a full refund. I am sorry that you happened to have extraneous bugs among your mudbugs, but it does happen.” Instead, the manager offered Archelle a $50 credit toward the store — an offer she did not appreciate. In the caption of her video, Archelle said, “To confirm, YES, they were water spiders! Help me convince this company to send a refund to CashApp.” Viewers were torn over the situation, with one person writing, “I can not believe you didn’t get your money back that’s crazy. The spiders have to be a food safety violation?” Others sided with the restaurant, claiming the spiders should not raise any alarms; “It seems like they offered to give you more than half of your money back in the form of store credit, which was very generous of them… Honestly, the spiders are a testament to the freshness of the crawfish and they are completely harmless.”

Woman in disbelief when she sees hilarious mistake Walmart made on her birthday cake – Dexerto
Woman in disbelief when she sees hilarious mistake Walmart made on her birthday cake Walmart / TikTokThis TikToker got an unwanted surprise from Walmart on her custom 22nd birthday cake when they took her request way too literally. Custom birthday cakes from Walmart have been available for years, but recently, they went viral on TikTok after several people posted aesthetically pleasing cakes with cursive writing. People are buying these cakes and adding a custom message on the top, as well as decorating them with bows. This trend is likely an extension of the “coquette” trend that has been making waves on social media lately. One TikTok even instructs others on how to order these cakes for under $20: 22-year-old TikToker, Peyton Chimack, tried to order one of these custom cakes for her 22nd birthday, inspired by the “thirsty” cake that went viral and following the instructions to have her chosen phrase written in icing. Chimack gave these instructions to Walmart’s bakery, “Aries Baby (Small, cursive, and in the middle of the cake.)” What Chimack got back from Walmart though, was a hilarious surprise that made her “mouth drop”: People in the comments were cracking up at this mistake, with one person commenting, “I NEED to know what is going through people’s heads when they are actively piping on what is clearly a note and are really just like ‘yep, no concerns whatsoever!” Another commented, “I would actually treasure this forever.” Chimack made a follow-up video in response to a commenter who asked, “I’m just wondering if you went back cause…..” Chimack did indeed go back and get the cake she wanted, and she posted a TikTok showcasing a photoshoot she did with her corrected “Aries Baby” cake. How to avoid a Walmart cake faux pas Although Walmart did not comment on this particular mistake, they do have a 90-day return and refund policy on all fresh produce bought in-store. If this does happen to you, you can always go back and get a new one made for free. Others who have gotten cakes like these suggest actually going into the store and ordering the cake in person at the bakery section to avoid confusion with the cake’s message. Costco also sells custom cakes, but they don’t allow you to order online. The cakes from Costco cost $15.99, so are only a couple of dollars cheaper than the $17.99 one from Walmart, and the cakes themselves do look pretty similar. And, if you want to get your cake from Costco, why not go the extra mile and do what this woman did by throwing yourself a birthday party in-store for just $30?

Woman kicked out of Taco Bell for decorating the bathroom – Dexerto
Woman kicked out of Taco Bell for decorating the bathroom TikTok: ugh_madisonA woman was kicked out of Taco Bell before she could finish decorating and cleaning their bathroom for free. When using a public bathroom, seldom does one encounter a sink full of goodies, womanly products, and decorations. Not only that, but the bathroom itself is usually not the cleanest. So, to give customers a clean experience full of festive decor and holiday-themed treats, a woman decided to decorate and clean a Taco Bell bathroom. However, she was kicked out just before she could finish. Woman approached by entire Taco Bell staff before being kicked out Planning to clean and decorate her “favorite” restaurant’s bathroom out of the kindness of her heart, TikToker Madison began doing just that. For starters, Madison placed Christmas-themed decor on the backside of the toilet in the single bathroom. She also included a playful sign that read, “Have a nice poop.” Not only that, but she placed mints and holiday-scented soap by the sink. Though she had previously been given free tacos by the Taco Bell staff for giving them flowers and a cake, the employees weren’t as lenient this time around. As Madison was about to begin cleaning the bathroom, a staff member knocked at the door and started laughing, so Madison assumed she was in the clear. However, moments later, Madison recalled that the entire Taco Bell staff was outside the bathroom door urging her to stop what she was doing and leave. Those who saw Madison’s viral TikTok took to the comments to question her sanity for willingly cleaning a Taco Bell toilet, saying, “I’m beyond disturbed that anyone would clean a Taco Bell toilet for fun.” Others were surprised that the fast food restaurant wouldn’t allow Madison’s efforts to stay so that customers could see the festive changes in the bathroom. Though she was inevitably kicked out, Madison did say that she’d certainly be back to Taco Bell. She was even applauded in her comments for being so “positive” about the ordeal.

Woman goes viral after claiming Walmart is “cheaper” than Dollar Tree – Dexerto
Woman goes viral after claiming Walmart is “cheaper” than Dollar Tree TikTok: @jenny_luna01A woman took to TikTok to share a ton of items that she’d found for cheap in Walmart, supposedly beating Dollar Tree prices. Dollar Tree is known for its cheaper food items, after all, it’s in the store’s namesake. However, a woman went viral on TikTok after sharing a slew of products that she found in Walmart, that were cheaper than its Dollar Tree counterpart. In the video, Jenny states, “It’s official. Walmart has cheaper things than Dollar Tree.” Gaining over 65,000 views, she moved around the store sharing some of the bargains found at Walmart. She showed plain bread crumbs for $1.22, cornbread mic for $1.12, blueberry and strawberry muffin mix for $1.12, a 14-ounce bottle of ketchup for 98 cents, and an 8-ounce bottle of mustard for 60 cents. People weigh in on Walmart / Dollar Tree debate After the video was posted, people were eager to share their experiences of shopping in both stores. Many were in agreeance with Jenny, and said that Walmart was, in fact, cheaper. “I agree Walmart is NOW!!!!! cheaper than the dollar tree.” “I keep saying this to my dollar tree and Aldi lovers,” another concurred. Some however, were dubious of Jenny’s claims, saying: “Literally nothing in my Walmart is lower that a dollar this is c**p.” Others were dubious too, asking: “Aren’t most canned goods at the dollar store 70c a piece?” Some even directly called out the store, saying sarcastically: “Walmart has this cute little thing where the price on the shelves are different at the registers.” So is Walmart actually cheaper? The answer, according to grocery and savings blog Living on a Dime, depends on what you are shopping for. For example, they claimed that party supplies were cheaper at Dollar Tree but spices and herbs were a winner at Walmart. “Don’t assume that Dollar Tree is cheaper just because things cost $1,” the blogger states. “Dollar Tree is not cheaper on everything, but it can be on some things. Walmart is cheaper for a lot of other things. So if you shop wisely and pick the right store for the right items, you can get good deals.”

Being woken up at 1 AM on a work night isn’t ideal, especially if this is a regular occurrence. A woman took to TikTok to explain a crazy situation she says has been going on with her neighbors. In the first video posted regarding the affair, Lauren says that her cameras have been going off every night, with a DoorDash worker outside her home. One night, she was awake at 1 AM when the DoorDasher in question attempted to deliver food to her home, so she accepted the meal, thinking that the neighbor might come over to pick it up, and that she’d have some kind of explanation. However, no one showed up. People weigh in on delivery situation People were super confused about Lauren’s mysterious food deliveries and attempted to offer some possible scenarios as to what was happening. “Our neighbor has food delivered to our house because the app won’t accept their address. It doesn’t bother us at all.” To which Lauren responded: “It totally wouldn’t bother me at a normal hour of the Evening OR if he ever talked to me about it!” Many thought there was a problem with the address, stating: “Or maybe the DoorDash can’t get the house right. (There are) three houses in my culdesac and they constantly deliver to the wrong house.” Lauren doesn’t think this is the case either, however, as she took to TikTok with a second video saying that she’d seen the suspected neighbor receiving a food order during the daytime with no issues at all. Whatever’s going on, we’ll certainly be looking for updates.

Woman goes viral after accidentally cooking “beautiful meal” with shower gel instead of olive oil TikTok: kameron_janeA woman has gone viral for mixing up olive oil with shower gel while making a “beautiful” Tuscan chicken dish. TikToker Kameron Jane recently shared the “beautiful meal” her mom made: a Tuscan chicken dish, but with a pretty big mix-up. As the chicken cutlets sat in the sauce on the stove, Kameron took her camera and recorded her shock when she and her mom discovered the one mistake her mom made while cooking. Though she was excited to have bought the “pure Greek” oil online, thinking it was top-shelf quality, Kameron’s mom accidentally bought shower gel instead of olive oil. “Look at what my poor mother did, she just cooked this beautiful meal with a new olive oil… this delicious meal that she spent forever on,” Kameron said. Kameron continued, “And only after she finished did we discover that it’s shower gel.” She then gave the dish a taste test and said it tasted like “straight-up soap.” Kameron also mentioned that her mom had to leave the kitchen because she was “so angry.” After viewers saw the hilarious mixup in Kameron’s now-viral TikTok, they said they would have entered their “unreasonable online review era” if that happened to them. Others were shocked about the shower gel’s packaging. “Who packages soap like that?! It straight up looks like olive oil,” one viewer wrote. One viewer even said they’d need “about an hour” until people could approach them to talk after wasting time, money, and excitement on such an anticipated dish.

Woman embarrassed to walk around with Stanley cup after viral craze – Dexerto
Woman embarrassed to walk around with Stanley cup after viral craze TikTok: @tibobelA woman took to TikTok to share her feelings surrounding Stanley cups following the viral craze, explaining she is now embarrassed to be seen with one in public. Isobel, a long-time Stanley cup owner, has had her cup for over a year. However, her feelings have changed toward her cup after the viral craze surrounding the drinkware. We’re all familiar with the demand surrounding Stanley cups. This has led to a whole bunch of bizarre situations, with people camping overnight at Target just to get their hands on one. In one particularly crazy incident, a man jumped the counter at Target to steal one of the coveted cups. Isobel has shared that her embarrassment comes from the “absolutely bizarre, weird culture that exists around Stanley.” “I don’t want to take this to my yoga class and have people think that I have 30 more at home and that I’m trying to coordinate with my workout outfit,” she explained. “How do we, like, make it stop because I just wanna be able to bring this?” she asked, clutching her Stanley. “I wanna be eco-friendly with my water bottle and not feel like people might think that I am the weirdest person on the planet.” TikTok weigh in on woman’s Stanley cup embarrassment After the video was posted on the platform, people were quick to weigh in with their opinions surrounding the Stanley cup phenomenon. “The consumerism of this mediocre cup is just insane,” one user wrote, clearly over the trend. It’s apparently a sought-after color so now I’m afraid to leave it in my car.” “I feel like Stanley cups are the new Beanie Babies. Remember when people used to collect those? Another asked. One user called for justice for Stanley cup users, “But also can we stop hating on people who have Stanley’s? Like just let people enjoy what they like. They’re good cups too.” “I’m sick of the leaking from Stanley so I bought a Simple Modern cup.” Many people are moving away from the Stanley cup craze, and one woman went viral for predicting the next trend set to replace them. If you want to try something else, these are the best Stanley cup alternatives that you can get your hands on in 2024.

Woman divides viewers after buying $30 bag of ice from Erewhon – Dexerto
Woman divides viewers after buying $30 bag of ice from Erewhon TIKTOK: lizziedushaj / WIKIMEDIA COMMONSAn Erewhon customer has gone viral on TikTok after buying a $30 bag of ice balls from the high-end grocery store. TikToker Lizzie Dushaj (lizziedushaj) picked up a $30 bag of eight sphered cocktail ice balls from Erewhon, the California-based grocery store currently going viral for its pricey products. “It’s meant to be used for whiskey. I don’t even drink alcohol. I’m just an idiot,” she said in her video, which has amassed over 9 million views. “It’s supposed to be made out of really special minerals that won’t water down your alcohol or something.” Although the store doesn’t mention any “special minerals,” it does claim that the ice balls melt slower than traditional ice cubes, and can be used for alcoholic beverages and iced coffees. In her video, Lizzie grabbed an ice ball from the bag to try it. With disappointment in her voice, she said it “tastes like water.” She then dropped it into a glass of water to see whether it’d turn crystal clear as promised. After a brief wait, she retrieved it and was amazed that it looked like a “crystal ball.” Lizzie then left the ice ball on her sink for 20 minutes. While it ended up looking slightly smaller, it hadn’t melted that much. “I would test out how long it lasts until it melts, but I’m really lazy,” she said. TikTok users in the comments couldn’t believe they just watched someone perform a taste test on ice. “Did I just watch you taste test ice,” one person wrote. “The taste test took me out,” another said. But most expressed their shock over the ice bag’s price. “I’m convinced we’re in Black Mirror. This is the last straw,” one user shared. “This is the equivalent of getting premium air in your tires,” another quipped. “My fridge does this who is paying $30 for that,” a third added. Lizzie later revealed that she didn’t pay for the ice balls. “The cashier never charged me for it,” she wrote in the comments. “I made a video about it but TikTok took it down for criminal activity.” The prices at Erewhon are by design though, with co-owner Tony Antoci telling The Hollywood Reporter: “We are catering to the affluent.”

Though most viewers rallied for Wendy’s to “make it right” for Mx. Ram, the restaurant has yet to respond to her video with an offering of a fully loaded gift card like many would like to see happen.

Woman claims her McDonald’s manager “won’t let her leave” despite bullying – Dexerto
Woman claims her McDonald’s manager “won’t let her leave” despite bullying Unsplash: emil huangA woman who works at McDonald’s has gone viral after claiming their manager won’t let them leave after she asked to move to a different location. In a post that’s gone viral on Reddit, a McDonald’s employee shared a series of texts that show an interaction with her manager. “I normally work Morning shifts and the two lead managers of that shift are awful. They don’t stock when they open, they insult me in Spanish and think I don’t understand, yelled at me for getting water… Nobody in that store likes them and they’ve gotten several complaints from both employees AND customers,” she explains. “I’m a little concerned about you because you told me you wanted to focus on school, and now you’re asking for another job at McDonald’s,” the text from her manager reads. “The reason why I’m leaving is because (blank) and (blank) are rude and call me names in Spanish… I figured it would be better to transfer to a different McDonald’s,” they write back. The manager continues to encourage them to stay, saying, “I promise nothing bad will happen again.” She responds and says that she just doesn’t feel comfortable working them anymore, but the manager continues relentlessly, making it impossible for her to leave. McDonald’s manager criticized for response After the post was made on the platform, commenters couldn’t believe how persistent the McDonald’s manager was, urging the woman to quit: “Damn that’s rough. I’d just quit if I were you, then go get rehired elsewhere.” The OP responded, saying: “Yeah thankfully I got a call back from another job I applied to so I don’t have to deal with McBullsh*t for long.” “F**k how she feels! Being able to afford a life is serious stuff! Take care of you booboo,” another said in support. However, some believed the poster was misleading people, writing: “It’s not just that they won’t let OP quit. They already did. It’s that they won’t authorize a transfer to another location in the same franchise. The complaint in the title is misleading.” McDonald’s also went viral in March after revealing they’d be releasing new and improved burgers.

Woman claims she did “nothing wrong” after getting fired for outburst at McDonald’s – Dexerto
Woman claims she did “nothing wrong” after getting fired for outburst at McDonald’s Forbes MagazineA woman who was caught in a viral outburst toward McDonald’s staff and lost her job as a result has responded, claiming she did “nothing wrong”. This “Karen” got really angry after McDonald’s employees took her request a little too seriously. She got so mad that she slammed the burger down on the countertop, causing a scene that went viral on TikTok. She responded to the viral video saying that she was fired from her job after someone showed the clip to her employer. The woman is convinced, however, that she did “nothing wrong” and shouldn’t have lost her job over the angry outburst. Woman asks for extra ketchup on burger, gets more than she bargained for The woman had ordered a burger with extra ketchup, but was outraged after discovering that McDonald’s staff had smothered the burger with sauce. In the TikTok that went viral, she goes crazy at staff members insisting that the food is inedible and that she would like to speak to a manager. She insisted that the staff at this McDonald’s were making fun of her because she was on a diet. However, it is unclear how staff could have known she was on a diet. The woman responded with her own video, saying that someone sent the video to her employer and she got fired as a result. “People found out where I work, they then sent the video. I got fired from my job. I did nothing wrong!” Although the internet is divided over whether this woman was justified in her response, with some people calling her a “Karen”, being nice to your servers at fast-food restaurants could save you a lot of trouble further down the line.

Woman claims buying Chick-fil-A chicken can trigger herpes – Dexerto
Woman claims buying Chick-fil-A chicken can trigger herpes Chick-Fil-AA TikToker is going viral after claiming that ordering chicken at Chick-fil-A can “trigger” herpes flare-ups due to being cooked in a certain type of oil. Social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram have become places for users to share life hacks, food tips, and more. For TikTok creator Stephanie Lynn Boyd, the social media platform has become a place for her to share own personal journey of living with herpes since 2017. Her bio on the app states that she is TikTok’s “herpes bestie.” Boyd further utilizes her platform to share how those who also suffer from the STI can avoid flare-ups or triggers of their own. In a recent video, Boyd claimed that ordering chicken at Chick-fil-A can “trigger” herpes flare-ups and encouraged her viewers to hold back on ordering the item when going to the fast food chain. “If you have herpes, and you like to go to Chick-fil-A and get any of their fried chicken, I just found out that it’s fried in peanut oil,” she explained to her audience. “And peanuts can be a trigger for people to have a herpes outbreak. However, the rest of the chicken restaurant’s food is safe. The fries are fine, the grilled nuggies are fine—all of those things. But the chicken specifically—that’s fried peanut oil, cut it out,” she said. The initial video, which has amassed over 3.5 million views on TikTok, was filled with a variety of comments from users. While some were appreciative of the tip, others took a different approach and instead made crude jokes about the topic. As a result, Boyd made a follow-up video, calling out these inappropriate comments. “People, just ask people that you want to sleep with about their sexual health,” she began. “If you’re so worried about catching herpes, or any other STI—the best way to prevent that is to have a conversation.” At the time of writing, Boyd is yet to release a part 3 video in regards to the topic and Chick-fil-A is also yet to respond to her now-viral video.

Woman builds a Starbucks in her house and people can’t believe it TikTok: @platinum.mackkA woman has gone viral after revealing their neighbor has a Starbucks in their house, and people can’t believe it exists. In a viral video, a TikToker showed herself opening the door to what seems to be a regular apartment. However, as the clip progresses, we can see what appears to be a makeshift Starbucks built in the middle of the room. The setup has everything from the counter, the industrial coffee machines, posters, syrups, and even the menu board. In the video, with a text overlay that reads ‘When your next-door neighbors have a Starbucks in the house,’ we can see her approaching the makeshift counter, and being handed a Frappuccino. Twitter/X reacts to neighbor’s makeshift Starbucks counter After the post was shared on Twitter/X, many couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw the setup, and wished that they could get in on the action. “Right next to the bed lol, I’ll take a coffee before I even get out of bed,” one said. “This is actually cool. The small intricate details. I wonder if she still messes up the name,” another joked. Some, however, weren’t as impressed, writing: “The lengths white women will go for a mid cup of overly sweet coffee is crazy.” Some speculated over the cost of the makeshift Starbucks: “This looks expensive.” “POV: You’re rich,” another wrote. Woman buys protein shake from Popeye’s and everyone is very confused – Dexerto
Woman buys protein shake from Popeye’s and everyone is very confused Wikipedia / TikTok: @gabybraganzaA woman went viral on TikTok after she claimed to have purchased a $2 protein shake from Popeyes, leaving everyone feeling incredibly confused. Gab posted the video back on July 10, where she showed herself carrying the shake. “Maybe I’m the only person that didn’t know this,” she said in the clip, “but Popeye’s has $2 protein shakes on Tuesdays, so cheers.” “Ok usually I am a protein shake hater BUT the caramel fudge slaps and for TWO DOLLARS in this economy??? Run,” she wrote in the caption. It has since gone on to gain more than 492,000 views. The video caused a flurry of confusion, with one user writing: “I’m here now. The lady at the cash register is looking at me like I’m crazy. She said ‘We only sell chicken here sir’, what do I do next?” “As a Popeye’s employee, I didn’t even know we did this,” another said. “Girl you sent me to the wrong Popeyes!” one exclaimed. It turned out that the Popeye’s that sold the protein shake displayed in the video is a totally different business to the popular chicken chain founded in Louisiana. The one referred to in the video is actually Popeye’s Supplements Canada, “The very first sports nutrition retail outlet in Canada. TODAY, it is Canada’s largest sports nutrition retailer with Over 100 Locations coast to coast!” the website writes. Though they don’t explicitly mention that they have $2 shake Tuesdays, one commenter underneath the video did say “It’s the Popeyes locations only in British Columbia and Quebec.” Commenters speculated that as a result of the video, a lot of confusion was set to ensue: “Girl you are about to get us cussed out by people going to Popeyes looking for a protein shake,” To which Gab replied: “I know, my local store already told me they’ve been getting calls.” Gab isn’t the first user to go viral on the platform over a milkshake. TikTok’s famous ‘peach milkshake girl’ resurfaced again this July two years after the original clip.

Why this tiny town in California is the dream destination for fast food fans – Dexerto
Why this tiny town in California is the dream destination for fast food fans Canva / Next CityCustomers can sample unreleased fast food menu items from brands like Taco Bell, Carl’s Jr. and more. Bakersfield, California has a population of under 500,000 people and is known for its quiet, suburban life with a country club and a thriving mall to boot. However, Ming Avenue in Bakersfield is the dream destination for fast food fans who want to try new menu items before anyone else. On this street, customers will find a Taco Bell, Del Taco, Five Guys, Wienerschnitzel, Carl’s Jr., McDonald’s, Jack in the Box, and a Sonic Drive-In. And that’s only to name a few. According to SF Gate, a San Francisco-based newspaper, all you need to do is head to your fast-food joint of choice in the area, and ask if they are testing any new items. At Taco Bell, customers were able to try the new Cantina menu months before it launched. The best bit is, fast food lovers who travel to this delicious hotspot will even get to try weird and wonderful menu items that might not even make it to national release. For example, Wienerschnitzel Bakersfield was serving up a fish hotdog complete with tartar sauce and cheese…. According to fast food experts, you know if an item is still in it’s testing phase if it is served to you in unbranded packaging, which is what a lot of customers receive in Bakersfield. Although there is no clear reason as to why this sleepy town has become the epicenter of fast food, it is clear that it’s a great place to go if you have a love for fast food and are on the hunt to try some fast food successes (or near misses) before they reach the market. Just remember to be honest when the staff ask you if you liked your meal. Wingstop customers cancel order after Uber Eats ‘driver’ delivers by foot – Dexerto
Wingstop customers cancel order after Uber Eats ‘driver’ delivers by foot TikTok: @mannatee00Wingstop customers were left baffled after being told their order was 84 minutes away, when their Uber Eats deliverer chose to bring them their food by foot. A TikToker named Tyler went viral after she shared a video that’s since gained over two million views on the platform. In the video, she explains a comical scenario that happened when she and her partner ordered takeout from Wingstop. “We are currently on the phone with Uber Eats right now,” Taylor says, showing the Uber Eats map, which tells us that their delivery is 84 minutes away. “Just look at this: We have a guy walking 84 minutes away, walking 4.5 from Wingstop,” the man says. They decided that it was time to make a decision, and after an hour of waiting, they decided to cancel, despite calling Uber Eats and being told they’d be charged a fee. “Long story short, our man Bruce, we couldn’t let him walk 85 minutes to bring us food… And Bruce got himself 20 wings and some sweet baby corn, and we got her money back… All is good in the world.” TikTok can’t believe ‘driver’ made to deliver by foot After the video was posted on the platform, people couldn’t believe that Uber Eats made the man deliver an order that was 84 minutes away. “If I had the capability at that point I’d just go pick up the dude and food to get it sooner and help him out. Dude is trying his best to earn money.” Many had shared similar crazy experiences: “This happened to me with the Chipotle app and the guy showed up 2 hours later and asked to use my phone charger because his phone died from the long walk.” “I had someone bring food from a different state because it was ordered from the wrong location. It was a 2 hour delivery and they wouldn’t let me cancel either!” another exclaimed. One user had some advice for Tyler: “Don’t cancel when this happens, because they will keep the food and the money. Wait until it’s delivered and asked to be reimbursed for the quality.” Another Uber Eats customer sparked debate in January, after they shared a hack for getting free food.

Why this restaurant is suing customer over generous $3000 tip – Dexerto
Why this restaurant is suing customer over generous $3000 tip YouTubeA Pennsylvania-based eatery has reportedly filed a lawsuit after a customer left a $3000 tip on a $13 meal. Back in June 2022, Eric Smith dined at Alfredo’s Pizza Cafe in Scranton and ordered stromboli, which only cost $13.25. Mariana Lambert, his server, became emotional when she received a tip of $3000. The staff at the restaurant – which gain popularity after references in The Office – were shocked to receive such a huge tip. Yet, it turned out to be too good to be true when the customer decided to dispute the tip with his credit card company. “It really meant a lot to me because everyone’s going through stuff. It really touched my heart. I still can’t believe it. I’m still in shock,” Lambert said. Because the tip was of such a high value, senior staff at the restaurant checked with Smith that the number of zeros on the check was correct, and they even asked him for ID to verify his identity. After everything was checked out, the staff were elated by the gesture and noticed that Smith had written ‘tips for Jesus’ on the check. When Smith was asked about the note, he revealed that he had left the tip after being inspired by a social media trend called ‘Tips for Jesus.’ He decided to do it after seeing how hospitable Lambert was. Why did this restaurant sue the customer? Things took a turn for the worse when a few weeks later, Alfredo Cafe received a letter stating that Smith was disputing the tip. Zachary Jacobson, who works at the cafe, said: “We thought somebody was actually trying to do a good thing. And then now we are, what, three months later? Not even, and there’s nothing. There’s nothing to show for it at this point.” The cafe had already given the tip to Lambert, so had to repay Smith out of their own pockets. They tried to communicate with Smith over Facebook, but after they received no response, filed for a civil lawsuit. “Unfortunately, we had to file charges through the magistrate’s office because now we’re just out of this money at this point. And he told us to sue him. So that’s what we’re going to end up doing, I guess,” Jacobson said. This situation gained a lot of traction in the local area, so much so that people launched a GoFundMe that was eventually shut down after the restaurant refused to accept the money. Although Smith was given his money back, this is known as a ‘provisional payment’ that is given to the disputer until the dispute is solved, once this case goes through all the appropriate legal proceedings, the money will be returned to the party who wins the case. As the restaurant confirmed with the customer about the tip, and the fact that he waited three months to dispute this, people online feel that the restaurant should have the $3000 returned to them. However, others who have gone through similar situations stated that credit card companies frequently side with customers. Another hospitality worker got lucky for his service and got to keep the money as TikTok paid off an Uber Eats driver’s wedding after he went viral for leaving a heartfelt note for a customer.

Why this new Domino’s store doesn’t sell any pizzas – Dexerto
Why this new Domino’s store doesn’t sell any pizzas Unsplash: The Nix CompanyDomino’s is known for its legendary pizza status, rivaling some of the biggest fast food brands in the US, but it has one location that serves something a bit different. Domino’s has been making waves this year. In their most recent deal, they guaranteed customers free pizza for a whole year to celebrate their partnership with Uber Eats. The chain is so strongly associated with pizza, in fact, that you couldn’t imagine it serving anything else. But, in this one location in Tokyo, Domino’s is swapping pizza for milkshakes. Domino’s Shake Stand Omotesando opened on Tuesday in Tokyo’s trendy Omotesando neighborhood. It’s completely dedicated to serving up milkshakes instead of pizza. Some of the flavors include Real Strawberry, Rich Chocolate, Tropical Coconut, and Happy Milk. It turns out that the Domino’s location in Japan has been in business for a while, despite its famed reputation. The shakes are “Made with milk and ice cream, but with no water added, Domino’s boasts that they maintain their rich, sweet flavor from the first drop to the last, no matter how slowly you may be savoring each sip.” In addition to these flavors, there are a couple more offerings on the menu, including the exclusive “Omotesando Shake” flavors: Creamy Matcha, Fresh Peach, Rich Espresso, and Summer Lemon. Domino’s has somewhat of a rivalry at the moment with a highly competitive pizza brand. Pizza Hut announced that they were the official sponsor of Domino’s this summer in an epic troll campaign.

Why this iconic KFC location accidentally looks like a bucket – Dexerto
Why this iconic KFC location accidentally looks like a bucket Wikimedia CommonsWhile you were scrolling through social media, you might have come across a KFC location that looks oddly familiar. That’s because it’s shaped like one of the chain’s iconic buckets, but the reason why it ended up like this might surprise you. The bucket-shaped KFC in question is located in L.A.’s Koreatown, and stands two stories high, in a white cylindrical shape, flanked by red stripes just like you might imagine to find on the chain’s sharing buckets. It has a long history, being built somewhere between 1989 and 1990, which means that it opened approximately 40 years after KFC first opened its doors to customers. Why is the KFC in Koreatown shaped like a bucket? So why is the Koreatown location designed to look the way it does, appearing as a play on the brand’s most popular menu item? Well, it turns out that the whole thing was actually an accident. Jack Wilke, who was the owner of several KFC restaurants across LA at the time was a huge art fan and fell in love with Googie architecture, which is a type of futuristic design influenced by the Space Age. He contacted architects Elyse Grinstein and Jeffrey Daniels, who he hoped could encapsulate his dream of turning his 8,000 square feet space into something to behold. “The intent was to create a constructivist building,” Daniels revealed in LAmag in 2018, a combination of modern engineering and technology. It turned out that the architects employed by Wilkie didn’t set out to make the building look like a bucket, creating what is now considered to be a happy accident The bucket-shaped KFC still has people talking Even though the building was designed over three decades ago now, it still manages to capture people’s imagination. There are several Reddit threads online discussing the allure of the building and sharing stories about their experiences there. “I worked there when I was a teenager back in the nineties. It even had a dumb waiter to send people’s orders upstairs to the seating area,” one former employee revealed. “Every Sunday my family would go to the church across the street from this KFC and every Sunday I would ditch bible study class and hang out at this KFC… good memories,” another shared. “Oh, this brings back memories. I used to live a few blocks away from here during my childhood. I loved eating on the 2nd floor,” a third wrote in. This isn’t the only wacky fast food location that’s got people talking. There’s a McDonald’s located in New Mexico that’s shaped like a UFO, and the reason is pretty bizarre.

Why is the FDA looking to ban this ingredient found in most sodas? – Dexerto
Why is the FDA looking to ban this ingredient found in most sodas? CanvaA common ingredient used in sodas like Mountain Dew and Gatorade in the past has been flagged by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) as potentially dangerous due to some health concerns. Brominated Vegetable Oil (BVO), is used as an emusifier and stabilizing agent in sodas. This basically means that the oil helps the ingredients in the drink mix properly, and also prevents separation of liquids while drinks sit on shelves. BVO was declared “generally recognized as safe” in 1970 by the FDA, but will be banned in California (and perhaps Missouri, Washington, New York, and Illinois, too, if similar laws pass) in 2027. It has also been banned in parts of India, China, and Europe in previous years, and the FDA proposed to revoke its approval of the product. So, what’s the problem with this vegetable oil? What is BVO? Vegetable oil is a common ingredient in most things we eat, and might even be your cooking oil of choice when preparing a meal. However, BVO is vegetable oil with the addition of bromine, a chemical used as a flame retardant. BVO has been used in sodas to keep citrus flavorings stable and to prevent them from separating and rising to the top of your drink. It is commonly used in SunDrop drinks and off-brand orange sodas from the likes of Dollar Tree. Why is this ingredient concerning to experts? In recent decades, the ingredient has been phased out of major soda-brand recipes, and is now more commonly found in off-brand and budget sodas. However, the ingredient can still be found in certain energy drinks, sports drink, fruit-flavored sodas, and dressings. And in case you were curious, Pepsi and Coca-Cola’s lemon-lime sodas (Starry and Sprite) and orange sodas (Crush and Fanta) do not contain BVO at this time. The FDA have admitted that they are changing their stance on BVO as more information around it comes out. “The proposed action is an example of how the agency monitors emerging evidence and, as needed, conducts scientific research to investigate safety-related questions, and takes regulatory action when the science does not support the continued safe use of additives in foods,” according to a November 2023 statement from the agency. According to a study carried out on rodents, potential connections between BVO and thyroid problems, heart issues, and behavioural changes were discovered. This study is still new though, and an expert noted: “We don’t yet have incredibly strong data to definitively show that consumption of this ingredient is guaranteed to cause harm in humans.” How to reduce the risks The best way to proceed is to try and avoid consumption of this ingredient. It is unlikely to have a detrimental effect on anyone’s health in small doses, but it’s best to avoid consuming large amounts of BVO in any form. As of November 2023, the FDA proposed a new rule which if approved, will mean BVO can no longer be used in food sold in the United States. However, a handful of states aren’t waiting on the FDA’s rule, and are banning the ingredient as soon as possible. Speaking of soda brands that don’t use BVO, Coca-Cola have just launched a brand-new limited edition flavor, and indie beverage brand Liquid Death is actually giving away a jet to fans who buy their drinks.

Why TGI Fridays is giving away free wings to angry sports fans – Dexerto
Why TGI Fridays is giving away free wings to angry sports fans Canva / NY PostTo celebrate March Madness, TGI Fridays is giving away free wings to disgruntled sports fans with busted brackets. It can be almost impossible to achieve that goal of a perfect bracket for March Madness, so if you miss the mark, TGI Friday’s has got you covered. All you have to do is prove that your bracket is busted, and you’ll get a portion of wings for free with any other order of food or drink. What is a busted bracket? In basketball, particularly during tournaments like March Madness in college basketball, people often fill out brackets predicting which teams will win each game and advance through the tournament. When someone’s bracket gets busted, it means that one or more of the teams they predicted to win loses a game, ruining their chances of getting those predictions right and potentially winning the bracket challenge they’re participating in. Basically, even if you’re not a big fan of basketball, why not submit a bracket just to get the free wings when it is inevitably busted? According to Forbes, 99% of March Madness brackets are already busted, so you’ve got a pretty good shot at the free wings. Who doesn’t love free chicken? How can I get TGI Friday’s free wings? From March 19 through April 8, basically throughout March Madness, you will be able to get a free portion of six boneless wings at the chain restaurant with any sauce that you’d like. All you have to do is prove that your bracket is busted and purchase any other food/drink item. The CEO of TGI Friday’s said, “We’re all about bringing the power of Fridays to all of life’s moments – and especially to those moments where our guests could use some extra excitement to turn their day around. By swapping losing brackets for a winning deal, we’re keeping the energy of that Fridays feeling ignited through all the ups, downs, and inevitable upsets of the tournament.” Think of it as a consolation prize for your loss, just try not to get your tears in the ranch sauce.

Why does Papa John’s give you a pepper with your pizza? The real reason behind the tradition – Dexerto
Why does Papa John’s give you a pepper with your pizza? The real reason behind the tradition Papa John’sHave you ever wondered why Papa John’s puts a pepper on the side of your pizza? The reason comes from a truly heartwarming tale. The history behind Papa John’s Pepper The little pepper that you get with your pizza has become a staple of Papa John’s, and whilst it is a delicious addition to any leftover crusts, the reason it’s put there is for more than just flavor. John Schnatter, the founder of Papa John’s Pizza, started off his career as a dishwasher in his dad’s bar. When they started serving pizzas to customers, they would always put a pepperoncino inside every box. This mildly spicy addition became John’s signature in the food he served, and he wanted to carry on this tradition when he opened up his own chain of restaurants. John founded Papa John’s Pizza in 1984, when he converted a broom closet in the back of his father’s bar into a pizza kitchen. Schnatter even sold his car to purchase $1,600 worth of used pizza equipment and began selling pizzas to the bar customers. What kind of pepper does Papa John’s use? This yellow pepper is called a pepperoncini or banana pepper and is an Italian pepper that is usually picked and has a zesty and spicy flavor. You might recall the world actually running out of pepperoncini peppers in the 90s. In an interview with Thrillist, Chief Ingredient Officer Sean Muldoon revealed that this shortage was probably entirely Papa John’s fault as they were putting so many of them into their pizza boxes. These peppers usually come from Turkey, and Muldoon estimates that about 25% of the world’s crop of banana peppers goes in Papa John’s pizzas. How should you eat the Papa John’s pepper? Although these spicy Italian peppers might end up being something that gets left behind in your pizza box, you should try pairing them with your favorite pie. Whether you tear it up and put it directly on your slice, or eat it along with your crusts and some dip, it’s like a nice little palette refresher for your pizza. Muldoon adds his suggestion on how to eat Papa John’s pepper, “I like to bite off the tip of the pepper, then spread the juices in a circle around the pie.” More like this: Internet divided over bizarre chicken and waffles pizza combo | Chick-fil-A launches new pizza range, but there’s a catch | TikToker reveals Subway’s secret menu includes pizza | Ex-Domino’s worker reveals how to create mouthwatering Domino’s pizza at home

Why are Red Lobster employees suing the restaurant chain? Lawsuit explained – Dexerto
Why are Red Lobster employees suing the restaurant chain? Lawsuit explained Red LobsterAmid filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, Red Lobster abruptly closed many of its stores, amassing 93 in total. Now, they are caught up in a lawsuit filed by former employees. These closures inevitably led to hundreds of staff losing their jobs; but why are the ex-employees suing the fast food chain? A lawsuit has been filed by California-based ex-Red Lobster employees as they claim they were fired without notice and that the company did not follow proper protocols. How were staff affected by the restaurant closures? In California, there is a law called the ‘WARN Act’ which the Department of Justice defines as: “WARN protects employees, their families, and communities by requiring employers to give a 60-day notice to the affected employees and both state and local representatives before a plant closing or mass layoff.” When Red Lobster closed its stores at the beginning of May 2024, employees claimed that they received no prior warning surrounding this and were as in the dark on the subject as seafood fans across the country. Many people arrived at their favorite store to find a ‘temporarily closed’ sign on the door, and Red Lobster began to quietly auction off their kitchen equipment, proving that the branches wouldn’t be reopened any time soon. After a busy Mother’s Day weekend, former employee Ramon Garcia of an affected store in Hamburg, California told 10News San Diego that his restaurant gave workers three days to clean out the store. Others said they woke up to scheduling app notifications and texts from coworkers informing them that they were out of a job. It isn’t just staff on the ground that have a high turnover rate, as Red Lobster is currently on its fourth CEO in three years. What’s the basis for the Red Lobster lawsuit? Legal firm Melmed Law Group told Dexerto that they filed a lawsuit on behalf of California Red Lobster employees. They said: “Hundreds of employees across California have been affected by these abrupt terminations, which we contend violate state and federal labor laws. “We believe this case highlights critical issues regarding employee rights and corporate responsibility, and we are committed to seeking justice for the affected workers.” The person organizing the is George Parker, a former Sonoma County Red Lobster employee who had been working at the Rohnert Park location off Redwood Drive since 2018. Parker is asking for 60 days’ worth of wages and benefits, as per the WARN Act. Part of Red Lobster’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing mentions that the corporation attempted to relocate employees to nearby restaurants, but this wasn’t possible for all of the suddenly jobless workers. Especially in California, where 8 of the restaurants were closed. What have Red Lobster said? Red Lobster stayed quiet for five days after their sudden restaurant closures and layoffs, and finally broke their silence on May 21, 2024 via Instagram. Red Lobster reminisced on the significance of their brand in US culture, saying, “We may be the place you discovered your love of seafood. Or where you met the love of your life on a first date.” They also reassured loyal customers saying that Chapter 11 bankruptcy is often misunderstood, and assured their fans that it does not mean they are closing, in fact, that it meant “just the opposite.” Red Lobster drove home their message of teamwork at the end of their post, saying, “Join us. Dine with us. Root for us. Together, we can write a new chapter.” And although they did reference their restaurant closures, there was no mention of the staff that lost their jobs abruptly. This message left a bad taste in some ex-employees’ mouths though, with the top comment on the post being, “Y’all fired us with out warning though…” receiving nearly 300 likes. What does the future hold for Red Lobster? Class action lawsuits like this one can get pricey, and with the recent losses amid bankruptcy, things are looking rocky for Red Lobster to say the least. Back in Summer 2023, Red Lobster aimed to tackle its 2022 loss of over $33 million by launching a $20 ‘All-you-can-eat shrimp’ deal, which lost them a further $11 million in just one quarter. That said, Red Lobster may survive the proverbial pot of boiling water yet, as Chapter 11 bankruptcy allows businesses to focus on the brand rather than their debt and to still serve customers, albeit on a smaller scale. Red Lobster has not announced any further restaurant closures, and they have not commented on the lawsuit from their former employees. Several fast food chains are feeling the heat from recent inflation rates, and to tackle this, the likes of McDonald’s, Popeye’s, and Starbucks have launched value deals to draw customers in.

Why do McDonald’s salads cost more than a burger? Former chef explains – Dexerto
Why do McDonald’s salads cost more than a burger? Former chef explains McDonald’s / TikTok: chefmikeharaczA former McDonald’s corporate chef has revealed why healthier options on the menu such as salads are more expensive than a burger. Former McDonald’s corporate chef Mike Haracz frequently shares insight into the fast food chain with his 300,000 followers on TikTok. His latest inside scoop? Why a salad will cost you more than a burger. In the video, Mike responded to a viewer who asked, “Explain to me why a fresh salad [costs] $9 [and] a cooked beef burger [costs] $1.59.” As it turns out, it all comes down to longevity and the freshness of the products, with Mike explaining; “The biggest reason is that salad doesn’t last long and by salad, we are talking about iceberg lettuce, romaine, leafy greens, and things of that nature.” “You can freeze beef, you can refrigerate beef in gas-flushed containers for shelf-life extension,” he continued. Vegetables can also be gas-flushed, but do not last as long. On top of this, lettuce requires a lot more care and uses up more space when being transported; “The same trucks that transport beef and you know, more dense items, also transport lettuce. You can’t compound it. You can’t crush it. You have to be incredibly gentle and delicate to it, or else it gets bruised and people will not buy it.” “If it looks weird, even though is perfectly fine to eat, but that tomato? If it’s got a little dent in it, people just don’t want to buy it,” Mike said. “But the biggest thing is because lettuce does not last long and there is nothing we all can do about it.” Viewers pitched in with their own theories in the comments, with one person writing, “It’s also just the ‘health tax”’ Companies know if you’re into health — you’ll pay. Same thing with ‘organics.’” “There’s more waste with salads, what if you don’t sell [enough and] those salads have to be thrown away?” another person wrote. “That drives up the cost.”

Where to find the cheapest pup cup: Starbucks, Dunkin’ and more – Dexerto
Where to find the cheapest pup cup: Starbucks, Dunkin’ and more Instagram: @pippintheshibaPiuppuccinos, or pup cups as they’re also known, have become a viral way to treat the dogs in your life while also getting yourself a treat. Whether you call it a pup cup, a puppuccino, or something else equally cute, you’ve probably heard of this adorable way to treat your pet. There’s nothing sweeter than seeing your pup’s eyes light up when they get a special treat, and it means you can go on a coffee date with your dog. Here, you’ll find out what a pup cup is, where to get them, and how much they cost – so you can treat your furry friend to a treat no matter where you go. Pup cups are often a part of the secret menu in a lot of chains, but if you know how to ask, you’ll be able to treat Fido every time. What is a pup cup? Although different restaurant chains have different variations of treats for dogs, a standard pup cup is just a small portion of whipped cream or vanilla soft-serve. Some ice cream stores will have dog ice cream, and some cafés will even make dog treats in-house, but a little cup of plain whipped cream or soft-serve is a great treat for your dog. Dairy is easy for them to digest, and it’s super-cute when the cream gets all over their face. Just make sure you ask for some napkins if you’re going to feed this to your dog in your car. How much is a pup cup at Starbucks? Pup cups are technically a part of the extensive secret menu at Starbucks because you won’t find a cup of whipped cream on their menu anywhere. If you wanted extra whip on your latte you’d have to pay 50 cents, but for your dog, it’s completely free. It looks like Starbucks might just be man’s best friend. Just ask for a puppuccino when you order, or you could also ask for, “a cup of whipped cream for my dog.” Either way, they’ll know what you mean. How much is a pup cup at Dunkin’? Dunkin’ has always shown its animal-loving side, especially when they created donut dog toys and donated all funds to an animal welfare charity back in 2021. If you want a ‘cup for pup’ or ‘puppy latte’, as Dunkin’ call the pup cup, all you need to do is ask when you make your order. This comes with whipped cream in a 4oz coffee cup and is usually completely free. However, they have been known to run special days where they charge $1 for these cups, but these are run as charity events. How much is a pup cup at Dairy Queen? Dairy Queen’s pup cup is perfect for hotter days to cool down your pooch after a big walk. The DQ secret menu pup cup is a small dish of plain Dairy Queen soft serve topped with a dog treat. And the best part? It’s free at most branches. However, DQ is franchised so some branches may charge a small fee for these. How much is a pup cup at Sonic? Sonic’s name for the pup cup is a ‘Wag Cup’ and you can even order these through their app under ‘Ice-creams and sundaes.’ If you’re ordering in-store though, just ask for a wag cup, which will be free of charge with your order. Depending on where you go, you’ll either get a cup of whipped cream or an ice cream with a dog treat in it. How much is a pup cup at Chick-fil-A? A pup cup is the perfect way to distract your dog from those chicken tenders that you’re chowing down on. The dog treats at Chick-fil-A vary, but former employees have confirmed that you’ll definitely get a cup of whipped cream if you ask. Chick-fil-A did release a promotional video back in 2023 though where they were giving out bags of dog treats for your pet for free as well, but these might not be available at every branch. Just ask what they have for dogs. How much is a pup cup at Shake Shack? Shake Shack takes pup cups to the next level because they have a whole menu for dogs. They serve a treat called a ‘Pooch-ini’. According to their website, this is a custom-made dessert consisting of dog biscuits, peanut butter sauce, and vanilla custard which costs $3.75 You can also order the Bag O’Bones, which is five ShackBurger dog biscuits in a convenient doggy bag. These are specially made by Bocce’s Bakery in New York. The bag of treats cost $7. Are pup cups safe? Pup cups are safe for dogs, as verified by vets. As with everything, moderation is key with these. If your dog has never had a pup cup, try them on a small amount first and see how they react. If everything is fine, you can give them the full thing next time. Despite common misconceptions, dairy is not safe for cats, so your feline friend will have to skip out on the pup cups. Dairy and vanilla flavoring is not toxic for puppies or elderly dogs, so pooches of all ages can enjoy this sweet treat unless your dog has any specific allergies that you’re aware of. If you’re worries, talk to your vet to find the best option for your dog.

That’s right, Pumpkin Spice is returning to Starbucks. It may seem like your pool floaties have just deflated and people are thinking of Pumpkin Spice already – but for some people, that cozy Fall feeling couldn’t come soon enough. Warm sweaters, leaves falling, and Halloween movies are just around the corner, and what better way to commemorate the start of Fall than with a Pumpkin Spice Latte? When will Pumpkin Spice be back? Starbucks’ Fall 2024 menu was leaked by food blogger Markie Devo on Instagram at the beginning of August, and of course, lots of cozy flavors were promised. Now, Starbucks have officially confirmed that Pumpkin Spice will be back from August 22. On top of this, Starbucks Rewards members usually get early access to new menu items, so fans could be sipping that PSL as early as August 15. Most of these drinks were featured on the 2023 Fall menu at Starbucks, and it’s great to see returning favorites back in time for the change of the season. Along with some items you know and love, Starbucks have also launched the all-new Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai. Get the full rundown on the Starbucks 2024 Fall menu and all the drinks here. What is in a Pumpkin Spice Latte? A Pumpkin Spice Latte is made up of pumpkin spice syrup, steamed milk, and two shots of espresso. The drink is then topped with whipped cream, and a sprinkle of nutmeg. The pumpkin spice syrup itself was made vegan back in 2020, so you can order the drink with dairy-free milk and vegan whip to make it dairy-free. The iced version uses cold milk and ice, and the Frappuccino blends the ingredients together into a coffee-like milkshake. What does pumpkin spice taste like? The pumpkin spice syrup itself has a sweet, warm cinnamon flavor, with a bit of heat from nutmeg. It also has subtle undertones of clove. Although the drink is called ‘pumpkin’ spice and is bright orange, you don’t need to worry about an overwhelming taste of vegetable patch. The flavor is meant to be inspired by the pumpkin season. What’s in Whole Foods Too Good To Go bags? $10 and under grocery deal goes viral – Dexerto
What’s in Whole Foods Too Good To Go bags? $10 and under grocery deal goes viral TikTok: zeebatheibizanWhole Foods is giving fast food restaurants a run for their money with their Too Good To Go bags full of tasty grocery items for $10 and under. When it comes to affordable meal deals, foodies often think of the $5 McDonald’s meal or in-app rewards programs that help save money. Whole Foods, however, has the internet buzzing about their $10 and under Too Good To Go bags. The deal includes a large brown paper bag full of fresh grocery items. Each $10 bag consists of about 5-10 items like salad kits with salmon, chicken tenders, homemade pasta salad, and much more. There is also a bakery bag for $6.99, and it comes full of breads, bagels, and desserts. The grocery products selected by a store associate are usually about to be thrown away due to their expiration date. Instead of getting rid of them, Whole Foods found a way to make their more expensive items a little bit more affordable. TikToker ‘zeebatheibizan’ shared her Whole Food haul where she bought two $10 bags for a total of $20. In one of her Too Good To Go bags, she received classic macaroni salad, crispy fried chicken, boneless buffalo chicken bites, egg salad, and a ginger cashew salmon salad. Though the TikToker’s bag was only $10, the items inside totaled about $40 – saving her quite a lot of money on a solid selection of food. She also opened her second bag in her viral TikTok, where she found different options than in her first bag. TikToker ‘jessemoltenbrey’ also bought herself a $10 bag from Whole Foods. Moreover, she even found the $6.99 bakery bag full of sweet and savory items. The TikToker also noted that she didn’t find the grocery items stale or rotten, despite them being close to expiring or near their ‘sell by’ date. While the deal is available in-stores while supplies last, viewers of the viral Whole Foods Too Good To Go bags reacted by saying they were an “incredible deal” and a complete “win.”
