YouTuber Kwebbelkop criticized after launching AI replacement to do his gaming videos Kwebbelkop/InstagramDutch streamer Kwebbelkop has launched a new AI version of himself that lets viewers watch an animated version of the creator – but fans have mixed reviews. Jordi Maxim van den Bussche, more commonly known by his YouTube alias Kwebbelkop, has become renowned for creating a variety of content for his channel, which has over 15 million subscribers. In early August, the YouTuber, 28, launched his own alter-ego, “Kwebbelkop AI,” a cartoon-style avatar mimicking Kwebbelkop’s voice and actions that has begun featuring in gaming videos on his behalf. Kwebbelkop has also revealed that he no longer plans to show his real face in YouTube videos, a move which has so far received a somewhat mixed response. But he’s confident it will catch on, he told Insider. In an interview with WIRED, the streamer explained that “Kwebbelkop AI” currently utilizes two versions of an AI tool. One has been trained to understand the YouTuber’s typical behavior in videos and another uses prompts to help put videos together. Fans and fellow streamers criticize Kwebbelkop’s AI Since the launch of his AI doubleganger, Kwebbelkop has had several other big YouTubers, such as Slogo, Jelly, and penguinz0 criticize his decision. All three YouTubers seemed to agree to think that it’s a “lazy” way to make content. “There is not a single good argument you could make for having AI replacing YouTubers, or anything like that. The literal only motivating factor is easy money,” penguinz0 said in his video. Fans seem to agree, as a majority have expressed their dismay at the new changes. One person commented: “i miss when kwebbelkop was an actual human being.” “AI should be used to help improve human intelligence, not replace it,” another said. “Everyone is saying that they miss the old kwebbelkop, but I miss the REAL kwebbelkop,” a third wrote. However, some people encouraged and defended Kwebbelkop, saying what he’s doing is interesting and “has potential”. One said: “This project has potential. Concerns about AI replacing YouTubers or just being a cash grab miss the point. If it’s not entertaining, people won’t watch. It’s about the value created, not effort. Sometimes, less effort for great value makes sense.” “I don’t think people realize how far ahead in time you are haha.. Idk why people are so opposed to your work. The content is obviously not for me but I can’t wait to see the future uses,” another wrote.

YouTuber kicked out of Jake Paul vs Gib fight after Arab Prince prank – Dexerto
YouTuber kicked out of Jake Paul vs Gib fight after Arab Prince prank nikoomilana/TheBreadBatch (Instagram)YouTube prankster Niko Omilana creeped his way into the Jake Paul versus AnEsonGib fight, despite being banned by Matchroom Boxing and blacklisted by DAZN security. Niko Omilana is a name synonymous with mischief. In Logan Paul and KSI’s previous bouts, the British YouTuber snuck into ‘ringside’ — a term which he later coined as an alias for his ventures. Alongside getting up close and personal with the fight, Omilana also rubbed former heavyweight champ, Shannon ‘The Cannon’ Briggs up the wrong way after pranking him in front of millions. Despite being banned from the Paul versus Gib fight, the 21-year-old YouTuber had a masterplan up his sleeve. To get into full character, Omilana sent out a Tweet which showed that he’d been backed into a corner with no way out… Or was there? rip ringside 😓 ive been blacklisted from the jake paul vs gib fight, those pussies didnt want the smoke again — NDL Ringside (@NikoOmilana) January 19, 2020 After adopting the name ‘Reng Sayeed’ (to pay homage to his ringside alias), Omilana disguised himself as an Arab prince while also bagging himself a VIP ticket — without any form of identification. After flying under DAZN security’s radar, Reng Sayeed found himself in the VIP area, where he was joined by a plethora of British YouTubers (including KSI himself). However, DAZN’s security team wasn’t blind to Omilana’s antics. After spending some time in the VIP section, Reng Sayeed’s cover had been blown and he was escorted out of the building where he was handed over to the police. After coming clean with his masterplan, Omilana was let off with nothing more than a slap on the wrist. However, that didn’t stop him trying to get the last word with Briggs. With Reng Sayeed now bound to outside of the event, the NDL Ringside cameraman was given one task — to get one last word from Paul’s trainer. When questioned on whether he had a message for Niko, Briggs addressed the camera and stated: “When I see you and talk face-to-face, you’re going to apologize for the sh*t you did!” With Jake Paul and KSI potentially in the pipeline, there’s a possibility for Omilana to once again prank the event’s security team, but the YouTuber will have to take his game to the next level if he wants to get ringside once again.

YouTuber killed in botched butcher knives robbery prank – Dexerto
YouTuber killed in botched butcher knives robbery prank Pexels, freestock.org, PixabayA 20-year-old YouTuber, Timothy Wilks, has been shot and killed after trying to prank somebody with a butcher knife for a fake robbery video in Nashville, Tennessee. For the purpose of filming a prank video for YouTube, Wilks and an unidentified friend wielded butcher knives and approached a group of people in the parking lot of Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park. Reportedly intending to create prank robbery content, Wilks was then shot dead by 23-year-old David Starnes Jr., who was one of the people in the group of intended “victims.” As Tennessee laws dictate, Starnes was legally permitted to carry a handgun and act in self defense. At the moment, news sources like the Washington Post report that Wilks’ gunshot wound was fatal, his unidentified friend was untouched and that, while police are continuing to investigate, no charges have yet been filed against Starnes. https://twitter.com/SaycheeseDGTL/status/1358448004483739649 Prank videos have long been a staple of the entertainment industry, but Wilks’ latest effort was a long evolution away from the likes of Ashton Kutcher’s episodes that circulated on MTV back in 2003. As internet content enjoys a greater breadth of creators and sources of entertainment, robbery pranks have grown in number and in extremity. A quick YouTube search will reveal dozens of videos, some concluding in arrests or in tears. Still, while commenters will be quick to call out prank videos for being staged, Wilks’ death proves a cautionary tale. At just 20 years old, the hopeful YouTuber’s intentions were for good content, but Starnes reportedly indicates he had no idea that a prank was afoot. The Tennessee State Constitution reads that “citizens of this state have a right to keep and to bear arms for their common defense.” Specifically, citizens need no permit to purchase a long or handgun and, while permits are required for open or concealed carrying, self-defense laws are flexible. Read more: How does David Dobrik make money? – As Tennessee code indicates, “there is no duty to retreat before using deadly force, as long as you are acting lawfully and are in a place you have a right to be in.” With the incident taking place in a public parking lot, those parameters were met by Starnes and, as such, charges have yet to be filed but Nashville police confirm that investigations are ongoing.

YouTuber Kavos conducts tense interview with Dream amid John Swan drama – Dexerto
YouTuber Kavos conducts tense interview with Dream amid John Swan drama YouTube: Kavos/Instagram: DreamCommentary YouTuber Kavos sat down with Dream for a dramatic interview following the mysterious content creator’s latest spat with John Swan. The thirty-minute interview, which Kavos says is the first part of a two-part interview, addresses Dream’s latest controversy with fellow content creator John Swan, wherein the former accused the latter of changing his Discord profile. Although the two initially resolved the spat privately, when Dream brought the drama up in a subreddit, in which he alleged that Swan said “sexual stuff” and “used the n-word” while pretending to be him, John hit back and accused Dream of “smearing” him. Swan has always maintained that his account was hacked by a child after he left his computer logged on, but Dream has remained sceptical. However, in his interview entitled “Asking Dream VERY Tough Questions,” Kavos interrogated the anonymous content creator over his belief that Swan mimicked him on Discord. Claiming that Dream’s belief it was Swan is “ridiculous and crazy,” and that his argument was based off “bull**** points and grammar points,” Kavos suggested that Dream’s audience are naive and would believe anything the content creator said. He also argues that people should wait to see what John Swan has to say about the drama before drawing any conclusions about the situation. How did Dream’s fans respond to the interview? Dream’s fans had a mixed response to Kavos’ pull-no-punches interview method. One Dream fan on YouTube praised the interview, saying: “Honestly, I respect Dream for being brave enough to go on interview with commentary channels, let alone Kavos of all channels. Kavos is a known Dream disbeliever so I respect the courage to come on and talk with him. And mad respect for Kavos for not pulling a single punch when asking his questions, he stuck to his opinion and didn’t just sugar coat things when Dream would defend himself. Kavos was professional and was trying to truly get to the bottom of it all.” However, other fans were unimpressed by the interview, with one fan on YouTube accusing Kavos of “attacking Dream at his weakest points.” https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1362873096894509057 Soon after the interview was uploaded, Dream fans uncovered a problematic Tweet Kavos made in 2016. Retweeting Kavos’ offensive Tweet, which uses the homophobic slur ‘f****t’, the fan said: “Kavos is homophobic so don’t support him!” In response to the allegations, Kavos accused “Dream stans” of making up a “false narrative.” “I support everyone no matter what sexuality,” he said in a Tweet. “I’ve never been homophobic and the use of one word five years ago doesn’t make that true.” Claiming that fans only uncovered the Tweets because they were unhappy with his interview with Dream, Kavos said that he “respects the Dream stans who aren’t throwing around false claims just because I got an interview with him.”

YouTuber Kian Lawley rakes in cash with Twitch sleeping stream by letting fans wake him up – Dexerto
YouTuber Kian Lawley rakes in cash with Twitch sleeping stream by letting fans wake him up Twitch: kianlawleyYouTuber Kian Lawley has gained tens of thousands of subs on Twitch through his ‘Subathon’ stream, in which he allows viewers to extend the amount of time he sleeps for, and wake him up with jarring noises via donations. Kian Lawley is a hugely popular YouTuber who has been making content on the platform since 2010. In that time he’s accumulated a large and loyal fanbase, with over 3.29 million subscribers on his main channel. He’s recently been turning his attention to streaming, and although his Twitch channel currently has 80,000 followers, his streams have been rising in popularity and he’s been gaining more fans by the day. Recently, ‘sleep streams’ have been growing in popularity on Twitch, which serves as a bizarre but often rather entertaining way for viewers to support their favorite creators. The premise is that streamers will fall asleep on camera while live, and can be woken up by viewers activating loud noises via donations. Kian decided that this is how he would conduct his Subathon along with Ryan Abe and JC Caylen. By subbing to Kian’s channel, viewers could add 20 seconds to the total stream time, and donating allows them to wake the sleeping creators with a series of loud noises. An insane clip shows the streamer giving his viewers 45 seconds to drum up as money subs as possible, and they poured in at an insane speed, standing at over 19,000 subs at the time of writing, and almost guaranteed to hit the 20,000 mark. Each subscription is at least $5 (although Twitch takes a cut, usually about $1.50). The trio are frequently interrupted by incredibly loud sounds, making both the streamers and the viewers jump out of their skin, but somehow every time they manage to go back to looking relatively peaceful before the next strange noise comes along. The stream has been going on for over 21 hours at the time of writing, with more time still left on the clock. Fans are cheering on Kian and his friends to make it to the end, already super impressed by how long they’ve streamed so far.

YouTuber JSchlatt says he “cut ties” with CallMeCarson amid grooming controversy – Dexerto
YouTuber JSchlatt says he “cut ties” with CallMeCarson amid grooming controversy Jschlatt/CallMeCarsonAfter a number of allegations were levied against CallMeCarson for alleged grooming of a minor, YouTuber Jschlatt, a friend of Carson, has made a video responding to the whole situation. Over the past few days, YouTuber CallMeCarson has been accused of grooming underage fans, something that has been met with a large amount of controversy. While it was already reported by SlimeCircle, a former member of the Lunch Club, that the group was aware of what was happening a while back, another YouTuber has come out talking about the controversy. JSchlatt, a friend of Carson’s, has made a new video in reference to the grooming allegations. He confirmed hearing about the grooming issue back in early 2020 and that he and Carson were in phone calls “almost every night” as they tried to help him through “the lowest point in his life”. “Right after he told us the truth, the Kate situation happened and regardless of what we felt about the Kat situation, we saw Carson’s mental state decline even more and it was to the point that we genuinely thought his life could be in danger and I felt like I needed to be there for him and that’s why I stuck with him,” Jschlatt said. The YouTuber also clarified that he “never condoned” what Carson had done, even letting the YouTuber know that if the behavior continued, they were “done”. Towards the end of the video, JSchlatt claimed that he started having conversations with Carson’s other friends and found out things that “suggested Carson wasn’t improving in the areas that he should have been and that he was showing signs of continuing his inappropriate behavior.” He also added that, seeing the DMs between these girls and Carson “f**king disgusted” him to the point where he could no longer say with confidence “that Carson’s behavior ever stopped” and that after he realized this, he cut ties with Carson a few weeks back. At the end of the video, Jschlatt said that, while he doesn’t believe Carson is a “pedophile”, he does think that the Minecraft YouTuber did use his power to take advantage of “vulnerable people”. “This is recurring problem now, of content creators who take complete advantage of and manipulate the people that care about them the most…I don’t know what causes this to happen, I don’t know what compels content creators to do this but it happens and it’s a big f*ckin’ problem.”

YouTuber Jschlatt changes “blackface” thumbnail after racism accusations – Dexerto
YouTuber Jschlatt changes “blackface” thumbnail after racism accusations YouTube: jschlattLIVEPopular variety YouTuber ‘Jschlatt’ has changed the thumbnail for his most recent video following intense criticism over the image, which many viewers called out as racist. Jschlatt is a fairly prominent YouTuber, best known for his comedic gaming content and interactions with other content creators in such games as Among Us, Minecraft and various Jackbox titles. One such Jackbox game, called ‘Survive the Internet,’ aims for players’ to take their teammates’ words and “twist” them after being given a certain prompt — leading to what Jschlatt called ‘the most absurd things possible.’ The YouTuber’s most recent upload of this Jackbox title has been met with intense criticism, however, due to the thumbnail he originally used for the video, which was uploaded on March 21, 2021. The thumbnail included a picture of a shocked Jschlatt next to a crude drawing of a human face, which was mostly blacked-out with dark-colored ink, with the word “Blackface” written in all caps on top of it. This particular image did not go over well with viewers, who were quick to call him out for what they felt was a racist caricature that made light of a serious issue of inequality. “Saying that this is just a joke literally proves the point that he’s racist,” one critic tweeted of the matter. “Blackface was literally made to make fun of black people!” https://twitter.com/monomaniiia/status/1373684003748864003?s=20 “Literally it’s so hurtful, that anytime we even try to call out this stuff, they try to make it out as if we’re overreacting or that we’re crazy for calling it racist, which it is!” another said. Literally it’s so hurtful that anytime we even try to call out this stuff they try to make it out as if we’re overreacting or that we’re crazy for calling it racist, which it is! — Kaiyoblu loves rui 💖💖 (@Lilbottlecap1) March 21, 2021 However, others were quick to note that Jschlatt wasn’t the one who drew the caricature during the video; instead, it seems that it was drawn by fellow ‘faceless’ YouTuber Swaggersouls, who brought up the topic during a portion of the video in response to a prompt that read, “I’m always craving saying slurs.” (Topic begins at 4:46) This didn’t stop Jschlatt from receiving criticism for using the picture in his thumbnail, prompting him to change the initial image to something far less offensive — the Twitter logo, with the words “Dumb Bird” over the top. Still, others are not happy with this particular move, with commenters decrying the thumbnail change as “passive-aggressive,” as Jschlatt has not officially responded to the controversy at the time of writing.

YouTuber Joe Sugg settles any rumors about dating his Strictly Come Dancing co-star – Dexerto
YouTuber Joe Sugg settles any rumors about dating his Strictly Come Dancing co-star Dianne Buswell / ThatcherJoeTwo contestants on the popular British dancing competition, Strictly Come Dancing, made a terrific pair for performing routines, but it has been revealed that they are more interested in each other outside of show’s floor as well. Colloquially named Strictly, the dance competition ended its 16th series on December 15, and (SPOILERS) even though YouTuber and content creator Joe Sugg could not take the top honors, another announcement seemed to turn heads. Sugg took to Instagram to announce that he and Strictly duo Dianne Buswell were in a partnership that transcended the boundaries of the show’s dance floor. After the Strictly finale, Sugg posted a picture of Buswell and himself joyfully gazing into one another with a caption that laid to rest weeks of high-flying rumors. “I may not have won the glitter ball, but I’ve won something a million times more special,” Joe said. The two formed one of the most exciting couples the show has offered, which no doubt played an incredible part in the weeks of speculation of their relationship from fans far and wide. In the weeks prior to the finale and subsequent announcement, inquiries that the two were an item were frequently denied with a spokesman for the YouTuber saying that the rumors of them “were absolutely not true.” Now that the competitions and cameras are off, Sugg must have felt that it was an appropriate time to let the world know of his entanglement with the Australian ballroom dancer. YouTuber Joel Haver addresses fan claims SNL stole his video – Dexerto
YouTuber Joel Haver addresses fan claims SNL stole his video YouTube: Joel HaverYouTube and comedian Joel Haver has responded to claims that Saturday Night Live stole ideas from his content, as avid fans brought a recent skit to his attention. If you’re a creative in the world of stand-up comedy and content creation, then working with Saturday Night Live is likely a dream goal. Canadian filmmaker Joel Haver is known for crafting unique animations, short films, and popular YouTube videos such as ‘Playing an RPG for the first time’. One of Haver’s fan-favorite uploads known as ‘Toilet Paper Bears’, has jumped back into the zeitgeist again, after fans noted how a recent SNL skit bore more than just a slight similarity. Haver has responded to these claims, sharing his insight on previous experiences on his YouTube channel. Joel Haver explains he isn’t “bothered” by SNL allegedly using his ideas On October 2, Saturday Night Live debuted a skit titled ‘Charmin Bears’, which featured Top Gun: Maverick’s Miles Teller as part of him hosting the Season 48 premiere. Within hours of the skit debuting, fans of Joel Haver brought it to his attention. “When it comes to these stealing accusations I always air on the side of coincidence. I think parallel thinking does happen more often that not,” Haver explained. Haver noted how the two skits shared the same premise: “It was pretty alarming, I was like wow…usually when these things come up I’m like able to see its the same concept but they took it somewhere different…but this one was a little weird, I was like wow this one is very similar.” While fans may have expected a harsher response from Haver, the content creator reacted to SNL’s actions in a more measured manner. “We have so much content, so much stuff out there, its inevitable that you’re gonna overlap,” continued Haver. “So when it comes to the Charmin Bears thing…I don’t think it was malicious, it was either a subconscious borrowing from somebody on the writer’s staff who saw my video. Or it was a coincidence.” Haver noted how he has enjoyed plenty of success from his original upload, which has garnered over 1 million views: “If I was still a small creator, which I was for a long time, I could see it rubbing me the wrong way and I’d be a little more likely to believe that they did steal it. I have to recognize that I’m in a position to not be bothered by it.” “I’m lucky in the event that SNL did steal from me, I’m lucky to be in a position to have my stuff seen by enough people that that would even happen,” added Haver.

YouTuber ‘Jesus Christ’ denies bizarre sexual misconduct allegations – Dexerto
YouTuber ‘Jesus Christ’ denies bizarre sexual misconduct allegations Jesus Christ / YouTubeA rising YouTuber named ‘Jesus Christ’ has had to deny sexual misconduct allegations made against him, with the accuser now apologizing for his initial claims. Jesus Christ – whose real legal name is in fact Jesus H. Christ, according to the YouTuber himself – has risen to popularity on the platform, largely thanks to PewDiePie. Christ would use his role play of the biblical Jesus on a site called ‘fiverr’, where users would pay to have him read a message of their choosing, but he was banned from the platform in 2017, effectively losing his income. PewDiePie was sympathetic to his situation, and helped boost Jesus’ website and YouTube channel, and helped him out again recently by sending his millions of fans to donate to Jesus to help with legal costs in a custody battle. This attention from YouTube’s biggest channel has helped Jesus amass over 900,000 subscribers, which caused a smaller YouTuber, ‘The God of Cringe’ to want to expose Jesus for ‘who he really is’. On January 8, this YouTuber uploaded a video accusing Jesus of touching him inappropriately at a VidCon convention and filming the encounter. He also believes Jesus may now be using the video for sexual gratification. However, in responding to the claim, Jesus provided the footage in question, which exposed the accuser’s claims of being largely false, with a much different version of events shown in the footage. The God of Cringe’s original video has received over 21,000 dislikes with only 321 likes, prompting him to make a follow up video apologizing for his claims. “I want to apologize if I got anything wrong on my previous video. I was solely relying on my memory from that period in time, and as we all know, memories do fade. Since you had the actual video where you drew on my nipple, and I never had it, I really had nothing to refer to.” Jesus has suggested that his accuser made up the allegations in an attempt to gain ‘clout’, or simply more attention and views on YouTube.

YouTuber Jesse Wellens confused at why James Charles is getting hate from Tati drama Jesse Wellens – Instagram / Tati – YouTubeWhile almost the entirety of the YouTube community has been bashing James Charles over the past few days, YouTuber Jesse Wellens is confused about why he’s received so much hate. There is no arguing that the recent controversy involving superstar YouTubers and beauty product moguls James Charles and Tati Westbrook has been the biggest talk of the town when it comes to the online content creation community. The hate that Charles has been receiving as of late has resulted in him losing nearly a shocking 2 million subscribers since May 10, which is when Tati posted her bombshell video titled ‘Bye Sister.’ However, one prominent YouTuber who hasn’t been quick to bash Charles is Wellens, as he expressed his confusion about the whole ordeal in a tweet that’s since been deleted. “I’m so confused,” he tweeted. “James Charles kid sold some vitamins and everyone hates him now? YouTube is so weird now.” 500 Unfortunately for Wellens, that was not the right time to tweet something like that, as he began receiving hundreds of negative comments from fans telling him to delete his post. “Delete this bro,” one user wrote. “If you don’t know [what] you’re talking about, you shouldn’t get involved. It’s clearly not just that. This is arrogant and a beg for attention, delete.” “Should probably read more into the situation before saying something,” another user added. “Just an FYI.” Clearly the message got to Wellens, who deleted his tweet shortly after posting it on May 12, but seeing as how he hasn’t tweeted anything as a follow-up, it’s not clear whether he deleted it because of the negative comments or because he finally looked into what actually happened. What is the drama between James Charles and Tati Westbrook? The drama between the two YouTubers began when Charles posted an Instagram story promoting a product that was made by a company that was a rival of Tati’s brand. Clearly hurt by that, Tati posted a tearful Instagram story of her own, admitting that she felt betrayed and used. After Charles posted a public apology on social media, Tati published a 43-minute video in which she ended all her ties with Charles, despite the fact that she had been a close friend and mentor to him since even before he became a star. In the video, Tati did not hold back in slamming Charles, making many negative comments about him and bringing up a lot of situations that showed him in a bad light. Despite publishing an apology video to Tati, Charles has now lost almost 2 million subscribers, and became the first YouTuber ever to lose a million subs in a single 24-hour period. While the two are clearly no longer friends, the drama between them doesn’t appear to be subsiding just yet, so we will keep an eye to see which direction things turn moving forward.

YouTuber JayStation accused of faking girlfriend’s death – Dexerto
YouTuber JayStation accused of faking girlfriend’s death YouTube: Dream TeamJayStation, a YouTuber with almost 5.5 million subscribers, has both shocked and confused fans, with a video reporting the death of his girlfriend, Alexia. On January 22, JayStation posted a 4-minute video title “My Girlfriend Alexia has died… *Rest in Paradise*.” Appearing distressed, he explains “last night, we lost Alexia to a drunk driver, guys. She was going to pick up something for our video on our second channel. She’s gone guys. She’s gone.” However, fans have been left confused, as after the video reporting her death had been posted, another video was posted to their second channel, featuring Alexia. This second video, titled “LIE DETECTOR TEST TURNS INTO REAL BREAKUP!! (CHALLENGE)”, features an alive and well Alexia. Update: Video has been removed from YouTube. JayStation does say that the couple already had five videos lined up, but fans were surprised to see this posted following news of her apparent death. In a follow-up video on his own channel, JayStation made a visit to a streetside vigil for Alexia. The memorial already had a cross, images of Alexia, a teddy bear and flowers when he arrived. The YouTuber also notices a sign, which was out of place and bent over, explaining “she must have crashed into this sign.” JayStation says he still plans to upload content, but that “it won’t be the same without her.” The odd circumstances around the video have led some to suggest that the video and death of Alexia Marano is fake. Fellow YouTuber OrdinaryGamers says he has checked with police departments in Toronto and Ottowa, near where JayStation reportedly lives, and there are no reports confirming the death. Jaystation is lying about his dead girlfriend. I’ve spent the entire night browsing and checking with police dept in Toronto and Ottawa. No police reports, no local news agencies and worst of all no family is confirming. I’m done with YouTube. I’m dumb for feeling sorry… — Mutahar (@OrdinaryGamers) January 23, 2020 Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem has started a hashtag in an effort to ban JayStation from the platform, also accusing him of faking the death. Jaystation should be banned from youtube. When I say he has very young kid fans I’m not saying that to roast him. I’m saying it cus it true. Like 7 to 12 year olds. (Read the comments) These kids have no idea what he’s doing is socially wrong. Ban him already! https://t.co/fcQXFB2zdV — KEEM 🍿 (@KEEMSTAR) January 23, 2020 The Canadian YouTuber has previously sparked controversy with his videos. Most infamously, he used a oujia board to “contact” late streamer Etika – on the same day as his suicide. This prompted a petition to have him banned. He’s also been accused of faking numerous other videos, including one in which he was apparently beaten up in his own home.

YouTuber Jeffree Star victim of “horrific” $2.5 million makeup theft – Dexerto
YouTuber Jeffree Star victim of “horrific” $2.5 million makeup theft Popular YouTuber and makeup mogul Jeffree Star announced the launch of his ‘Blue Blood’ product line on March 15 – and suffered a devastating loss that very evening. According to Star, a group of thieves had infiltrated one of his climate controlled warehouses the night of March 15, stealing an estimated $2.5 million in product – including an unreleased concealer line. Alongside a shipment of Star’s new ‘Platinum Ice’ highlighter palette (5,000 units in total) and “thousands” of his ‘Northern Lights’ highlighters, the burglars also pilfered an entire shade of his upcoming ‘Magic Star’ concealers. Star’s ‘Magic Star’ concealer has been over one year in the making, and contains a reported thirty plus shades, with the shade ‘5C’ being completely depleted by the criminals in question. Read More: YouTuber Logan Paul explains ‘inspirational’ change of direction for his popular Maverick brand – “This is the biggest theft I have ever experienced in my entire career,” Star admitted in an emotional video on the topic, uploaded on April 2. “…I am still shocked about the entire thing.” Star himself believes the burglary was an “inside job,” calling the theft “very professional” and speculating that a temporary worker may have tipped the thieves off. “It is so gut-wrenching to watch people just take your shit and put it in a truck, and steal something that I have been working on for so long,” he said of the video recording of the theft. That’s not all; pictures of Star’s product soon began leaking online through ‘social marketplace’ sites like ‘Poshmark’ and the Facebook marketplace, as discovered by a team of investigators hired by Star, alongside law enforcement officials – and even the FBI. Star claimed that the thieves were likely “black-market makeup dealers,” selling his products to counterfeit makeup outlets or “under the table” markets, and claimed that the same thieves had stolen over $4.5 million in Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow palettes in 2017. I don’t even know where to begin right now.. The last few weeks have been so mentally exhausting but I’m so grateful for all the law enforcement & FBI agents who have been working on my #Concealer heist :skin-tone-2: A major player who has been selling my stolen product has been arrested. — Jeffree Star (@JeffreeStar) April 3, 2019 Alongside the theft, Star is also dealing with the declining health of his birth mother, who he claimed to have recently reconciled with during his video discussing the matter. Star is one of YouTube’s most popular makeup artists to date, boasting over 14 million subscribers and over 4 million followers on Twitter.

PewDiePie uploaded a video on January 26, where he poked fun at Charles’ signature “sister” catchphrase. “I realize now, I’ve been tapping out half the market,” Pewds said, jokingly noting that he calls his own fanbase ‘bros.’ “I’ve only appealed to one gender. How discriminatory of me! Everyone, go tell James Charles that bros invite sisters to subscribe to PewDiePie.” Charles has since responded to PewDiePie’s request – but he’s presenting the YouTube king with a challenge before he fully accepts. “Hey PewDiePie, after watching your new video today, I’ve consulted with the sisters,” Charles wrote in a Tweet. “They’ve agreed to subscribe – but only after a collab with you being in full glam, so you can DM me when you need help winning 😉” hey @pewdiepie after watching your new video today I’ve consulted with the sisters and they’ve agreed to subscribe but only after a collab with you being in full glam so you can dm me when you need help winning 😉 — James Charles (@jamescharles) January 26, 2019 While PewDiePie has yet to make an official response to Charles’ request, he did retweet his post shortly thereafter, hinting at a possible collab between the two major YouTubers. PewDiePie’s battle with T-Series has seen involvement from a slew of internet celebs, including the likes of Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach, Justin Roberts, and even Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson, who sent Pewd’s subscriber count soaring after creating a city-wide ad campaign in October of 2018. PewDiePie is now a little under 300,000 subs ahead of T-Series as of January 26 – leading some fans to wonder if he might accept James’ challenge sooner rather than later.

YouTuber Jarvo69 found guilty of aggravated trespass after invading Oval pitch – Dexerto
YouTuber Jarvo69 found guilty of aggravated trespass after invading Oval pitch YOUTUBE: Jarvo69 aka BMWJarvoYouTube prankster Jarvo69 has been found guilty of aggravated trespass after invading The Oval pitch during England v India Test match. Daniel Jarvis, knows as Jarvo69 on YouTube, collided with England’s cricketer Johnny Bairstow at the non-striker’s end after sprinting on to the field to bowl at Ollie Pope on day two of the fourth Test against India. The YouTuber, who has over 170,000 subscribers, was arrested over the stunt on September 3, 2021, and later charged with aggravated trespass. At Croydon Magistrates’ Court, District Judge Daniel Benjamin said: “The issue in the case is straight forward, namely whether he intended to disrupt the Test match.” He concluded this was Daniel’s intention, adding: “I find Mr. Jarvis guilty of aggravated trespass.” Daniel, who self-represented after his request to adjourn the case was dismissed, said he did not believe he was trespassing because he had a ticket. He said that some people “run out naked” during games but do not get arrested. The prankster told Croydon Magistrates’ Court that he “accidentally” made contact with Johnny Bairstow, adding: “I can’t remember the man’s name.” The court was shown broadcast footage of Daniel running on to the pitch, along with a video he recorded showing him hiding in a toilet before sprinting on to the field after receiving a phone call telling him to go. The court also viewed videos of him invading the pitch at two previous matches between England and India last year, at Lord’s on August 12 and at Headingley on August 25. Daniel said he was not arrested over those pitch invasions, adding “no one has been prosecuted for these things before.” “I didn’t intend to disrupt the match,” he told the court. “I didn’t know when I was coming out. Why wasn’t I arrested before? Why is everyone attacking me for it?” The YouTuber said he got “positive feedback” on his videos, which he made for “people’s pleasure.” He was granted unconditional bail. The judge adjourned sentencing at the same court until October 19, to allow for the preparation of pre-sentence reports.

YouTuber James Charles slams media criticism of his show-stopping meet & greet James Charles, Twitter / Adobe StockPopular YouTuber and makeup mogul James Charles is lashing out against widespread criticism of his Birmingham meet and greet, which ended up causing a gridlock due to the mass amount of fans drawn to his appearance at the city’s Bullring shopping center. A reported number of 8,000 fans crowded all three floors of the shopping mall on January 26 to get a glimpse of Charles, who held a meet and greet event for the opening of a new Morphe makeup store. However, a few media outlets were highly critical of the incident, with some even calling Charles “virtually unknown” – despite his 13 million YouTube subscribers and three million Twitter followers. In fact, Radio host James O’Brien expressed some disdain towards Charles’ popularity on his show ‘Leading Britain’s Conversation’ – to which Charles had a surprising reaction. Charles himself popped onto the show as a suprise guest to educate O’Brien as to his internet fame, ending their call on a positive note that had the host calling their conversation a “lovely moment.” Charles likewise hit out at the backlash via Twitter, writing, “It actually blows my mind that so many news outlets refuse to recognize the success of YouTubers, when there are creators pulling the same number of viewers in one month that these outlets are proud to pull in an entire year.” Regardless of the media’s varied reactions, Charles’ explosive appearance in the Birmingham mall stirred up an important conversation regarding the changing state of who is considered “famous” in modern society. YouTuber Jake Paul hospitalized following “career ending” boxing injury – Dexerto
YouTuber Jake Paul hospitalized following “career ending” boxing injury Jake Paul, YouTubeControversial YouTuber Jake Paul teased a possible injury to his arm across social media, although he never directly addressed the issue – until he uploaded a video on the topic on April 6. According to Paul, he’d broken his hand while boxing fellow YouTuber Joe Weller on March 23, showing what looked to be a massive “goose egg” on top of his hand. Paul claimed that he’d felt pain in the appendage for several days before rushing to the hospital with his mother, boxing coach, and singing coach in tow, receiving a splint for the wound. Is Jake Paul’s injury due to infection or a break? Paul’s boxing coach claimed he’d be out for two to three months due to the injury, which him wake with an intense fever and swelling the next day. The YouTuber was rushed to the emergency room in an ambulance shortly thereafter, with Paul claiming that he could feel an infection spreading from his hand down his forearm. While Paul claimed to never have been given a straight answer about the cause of his condition, his mother speculated that it was an abscessed infection due to cellulitis, a common yet potentially fatal bacterial infection. Paul likewise theorized that he may have received the infection due to open wounds on his hands after sliding down a rope in a video, which then spread to his boxing injury. Jake underwent a four-hour surgery, in which the surgeon opened the top of his hand to suck out the abscessed fluid and discovered a sprain in the process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FACvqs–tBIIs Jake Paul’s boxing career really over? Despite Paul’s near-constant clickbait pranks, his story appears to be real; however, his boxing career could be put on hold due to his three-month recovery timeframe. Paul was originally set to box American rapper Soulja Boy after the two got into a beef via social media, quickly followed by his last-minute bout with YouTuber Joe Weller – which many fans speculated was “fixed” beforehand, as Weller went down fairly easily after receiving a well-placed body shot from Paul. Jake’s surgery story also follows the death of Logan Paul’s beloved Pomeranian, ‘Kong da Savage,’ who passed away the night of April 5 due to a fatal coyote attack.

YouTuber jailed after posting videos of dangerous driving – Dexerto
YouTuber jailed after posting videos of dangerous driving A YouTuber from the UK has been thrown in jail after posting videos of himself driving dangerously fast on crowded public roads. It’s not unusual for auto YouTubers to post videos of themselves pushing high-performance cars to their limit, but generally, these are filmed on closed tracks and courses. However, one influencer from the UK has found out the hard way why you don’t drive like a maniac on public roads, and then post videos of it online — as they’ve been jailed for over two years for doing so. YouTuber jailed for dangerous driving According to reports, the YouTuber in question is named Adeel Habib. Habib was purportedly the one behind the Certi Drivers channel, which had close to 70,000 subscribers before being removed from the site. His videos often featured him driving dangerously on crowded public roads, but in the end they ended up costing him dearly. After being arrested on drugs charges, Habib plead guilty to dangerous driving and encouraging dangerous driving at a court appearance in Leeds, according to the BBC. He was sentenced to 27 months in jail for the dangerous driving, and that’s on top of the four years he was already serving for an unrelated drugs charge. The police first learned about the Certi Driving channel during an investigation into dangerous driving at illegal car meets. But Habib was arrested on drugs charges first, and so the driving charges were tacked on after he was already in jail. Cops called Habib “absolutely shameless” for “regularly posting videos of his antics to impress his many followers.” Like we mentioned Habib’s Certi Drivers channel was deleted in June 2022, and from the looks of things it doesn’t seem like it will be coming back anytime soon.

YouTuber Jaclyn Hill receives backlash over new Ulta makeup display – Dexerto
YouTuber Jaclyn Hill receives backlash over new Ulta makeup display Instagram: jaclynhillBeauty YouTuber Jaclyn Hill is being criticized after her new makeup launch, with some saying they ‘don’t feel comfortable buying her products,’ and others citing shade range and quality issues as the source of their frustration. Jaclyn Hill has been making beauty and makeup-related content on YouTube since 2011, and in that time she has garnered over 5.7 million subscribers on her channel. She has collaborated with some huge stars such as Kim Kardashian and has a substantial fanbase behind her. However, the influencer has also come under a large amount of backlash in the past, significantly relating to her own product launches. Her first lipstick line in 2019 was widely criticized thanks to quality control issues that meant there were bits of fuzz and hair in the formula. The star opened up with fans a while later in 2020, explaining that the controversy caused her to vomit several times a week, even turning to alcohol to cope with her anxiety and depression. Some were also upset with the most recent February launch of her “mystery box” full of unspecified products from her brand. Many were confused by the decision to not specify the products, so Jaclyn eventually ended up naming some of the products. She explained the launch was as a result of the global health crisis that had affected some of the other launches she had planned for the year. Read More: What is Kylie Jenner’s Ramen recipe? – Now in response to a post uploaded by Instagram page ‘trendmood1’ showing Jaclyn’s display at Ulta for her new launch, people have expressed their dissatisfaction with the beauty influencer. “More highlighters, aren’t we over that? This line looks boring, and once again, overhyped,” one commenter wrote, going on to say, “don’t trust her ethics and never will.” “TBH I’m disgusted with the prices of her products alone. After everything with her brand that’s happened so far, she expects people to pay that much? Hell no.” The same commenter also said, “why did her skin tone darken so much on the image? And why aren’t there darker bronzer shades? I mean you’d think she didn’t learn sh*t from the experiences she’d had so far. Other screenshots from commentary account Def Noodles show that some comment threads have been allegedly removed from the post. One person said “My (fully Filipino) mom could only wear the darkest shade, and she’s not even that dark!” These comment threads have been allegedly removed from Trendmood’s post. pic.twitter.com/4vji6v9jS0 — Def Noodles (@defnoodles) March 7, 2021 However, some fans also defended the beauty influencer against the backlash. “Wow! So many haters!” one person wrote. “I don’t get why people have to drag her through the mud. At this point it wouldn’t matter if her products were amazing, someone is always going to complain just because it’s her!” It seems that Jaclyn receives backlash about every launch she does, as many are still wary of her brand ever since the lipstick scandal. However, many fans are sticking by her side.

YouTuber jacksfilms tries to rescue PewDiePie with ideas to stop T-Series – Dexerto
YouTuber jacksfilms tries to rescue PewDiePie with ideas to stop T-Series jacksfilmsIn another attempt to save Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg’s rank as the most subscribed channel on YouTube, jacksfilms asked his fans to help him out with ideas. Jacksfilms is a famous YouTuber with over 4.5 million subscribers and is best known for parodies and his YIAY series, which stands for “Yesterday I asked you”. In a nod to PewDiePie’s “Last week I asked you” (LWIAY) series, he combined the titles together in his latest Youtube video spelling out LWIAYIAY. The question asked for this video was “how do we help PewDiePie stay #1 most subscribed?” The video included jacksfilms briefly reviewing ideas from his fans in a comedic manner that could help PewDiePie retain that top spot as the most subscribed channel on YouTube against a quickly rising T-Series. Some of the commenters took the opportunity to genuinely suggest ideas for the biggest YouTuber, such as recommending games and video ideas for Felix to take on board with examples such as bringing back his Happy Wheels series or reacting to funny Fortnite compilations. As the gap is closing and less than two thousand subscribers separate the top two channelse, most of jacksfilms’ following believe that it was over for PewDiePie and that his reign as YouTube’s most subscribed creator had finally come to end, saying “It’s over jack just go home” and “It’s the end. There is no rescue.” Other users, however, had more unusual ideas for PewDiePie to take on board, with ideas such as ‘asking YouTube nicely’ for help and in an extreme case one such viewer left a comment on YouTube saying that “Elon Musk buys YouTube, and deletes T-Series.” We have seen the Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, openly show support to PewDiePie before in the battle with T-Series when he finally hosted his meme review series after teasing it for weeks but this request here might be asking too much of Elon. Jacksfilms finally agreed with the concluding comment of the video which said that “we all just have to subscribe! It’s easy” but in the race for the top spot, many fans feel like PewDiePie will need to continue to do big things to stay on top.

YouTuber ItsOwen banned amid backlash for “clickbaiting MrBeast & Technoblade” – Dexerto
YouTuber ItsOwen banned amid backlash for “clickbaiting MrBeast & Technoblade” YouTubeL Technoblade, ItsOwen and MrBeastA YouTuber with over 3.5 million subscribers, ItsOwen, has been banned from the platform, following accusations that he “clickbaited” MrBeast and the late Technoblade with his videos. On July 4, Owen appealed to TeamYouTube on social media, saying that he was “so depressed” following the termination of his channel. He went on to explain that he “never received any community guideline strikes so he didn’t know what he was doing was violating the guidelines.” TeamYouTube confirmed they were looking into the situation. https://twitter.com/_ItsOwen/status/1544018089888595969?s=20&t=1sY_mSJKNa-isXHP2Tb9dg Why was ItsOwen banned? At the time of writing, it’s not entirely clear what exactly triggered ItsOwen’s YouTube channel to be terminated. When you visit his channel, you’re met with a prompt saying that “This account has been terminated due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube’s policy on nudity or sexual content.” While instances of these violations are obviously no longer available to find on Owen’s channel, a number of critics hit out at Owen in his conversation on Twitter, calling him out for “clickbaiting” the recent passing of Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade. One viral Tweet showed the timeline of ItsOwen being called out for his Technoblade video, followed by a swift ban. In the replies to his original tweet are a number of comments simply saying that the ban is “deserved” with one saying that it’s deserved for “milking Technoblade’s death.” https://twitter.com/tempinilius/status/1543994619041648640?s=20&t=1sY_mSJKNa-isXHP2Tb9dg ItsOwen previous YouTube bans This isn’t the first time Owen has been banned, though. Just over one month before this account termination, he had already appealed to TeamYouTube, asking them to “fix this” regarding his ban. “My YouTube Channel with over 1.5 million subscribers got wrongfully terminated for ‘repeated violations of community guidelines,’” he said. “I did not violate any community guidelines and never received a community guideline strike.” https://twitter.com/_ItsOwen/status/1529713245052870656?s=20&t=1sY_mSJKNa-isXHP2Tb9dg The channel had also previously been banned in March 2021, pointing to a regular and persistent violation of YouTube guidelines in recent years from ItsOwen. Whether he gets his terminated account back this time, after already receiving several bans in the past, remains to be seen.

YouTuber Imogenation tells heartbreaking story on social media hate YouTube: ImogenationA popular make-up and beauty YouTuber has revealed the devastating effect hateful comments and social media trolling has on people’s mental health, with a heartbreaking video detailing her own personal struggles. Imogenation, who is closing in on 400,000 subscribers at the time of writing, starts the video clearly struggling to even speak to the camera, let alone share the sad footage that ensues. What follows is a week’s worth of footage and behind-the-scenes moments that show a usually high-spirited, happy woman unable to create her videos properly, having emotional breakdowns, and clearly in a poor mental state. The video – which lasts 31 minutes – sees Imogenation (real name Imogen Horton) frequently attempting to create her usual videos, but barely able to get past the start before losing traction. In the very first clip, after frequently trying to get things right, Imogen is forced to stop, saying: “I’m so angry that I’m allowing this to get to me. Honestly, looking in that viewfinder, I could literally pick out 100 things that’s wrong with me.” She goes on to say that she “doesn’t know how to get back to being herself,” adding that she has “lost her spark, and I feel like that was the best thing about me.” Following that, you see a different setting, clearly from the filming of a different video, where Imogen has a full-blown panic attack, followed by confessions over how anxiety stops her sleeping and causes stomach pains that look near-debilitating. She goes on to speak about how she took a break from social media but, immediately upon returning, found hate messages and comments that she makes an effort to delete and report, but says that just having hateful comments there at all makes her worried that other people will see it and judge her. In the final minutes of the video, it becomes clear where Imogen’s mindset is at. “I just want to go back to being me,” she says. “I haven’t been out of the house for a week. I hate myself for allowing them to win. I just want to be me again.” Imogen committed to donating all money made from the video to MIND mental health charity, and provided multiple links and helplines to assist others in similar situations. YouTuber becomes “wanted fugitive” after breaking into SpaceX launch site – Dexerto
YouTuber becomes “wanted fugitive” after breaking into SpaceX launch site YouTube: LocoVlogsA small-time YouTuber has become a wanted fugitive after he illegally broke into Space X property to make a vlog. Update: Valley Central is reporting that charges have now been dropped Original article: YouTuber Loco Vlogs, real name Cesar L. Galaviz, only has around 1600 subscribers, but lately, he’s been given some more exposure, and for the wrong reasons. Galaviz filmed himself trespassing on a SpaceX launch site and uploaded it to his YouTube Channel. Although the original video of his exploration around SpaceX was deleted, this is the internet after all and it has been taken and reuploaded by several other users with titles such as “Idiot Records Himself Trespassing SpaceX Launch Site.” The YouTuber can be seen walking around the launch site, filming underneath a rocket, and speaking excitedly to the camera saying “This is going to be epic. This is the kind of stuff you don’t see on other people’s channels.” Galaviz then posted an apology video on April 1 after receiving backlash. “Yes it was wrong, yes it was illegal,” he said. “But in my eyes…I didn’t really think about that and I know I should have thought about trespassing and all of that but… what went through my mind was okay I’m never gonna get this opportunity again so I went for it.” He went on to add that he would not do it again and that it was not his intention to break the law, but that he “just thought it would be cool on the channel to go see a rocket because there are some people out there who can’t get there.” However, commenters were unforgiving. One person described him as “A child in a man’s body with a brain the size of a pea,” while another wrote, “You’re not sorry because you did it, you’re sorry because of the backlash from it.” Now, it appears he is facing the repercussions, with Sherriff Eric Garza of Cameron County in Texas tweeting that Galaviz is now a “wanted fugitive,” for a “Class ‘B’ Misdemeanor,” alongside an image showing a picture of the YouTuber, his full name and his last-known location being Conroe, Texas. A Warrant of Arrest has been issued for Cesar L. Galaviz for Criminal Trespass for intentionally going onto the SpaceX property without their consent. YouTuber’s home raided after driving “clown car” through McDonald’s drive-thru – Dexerto
YouTuber’s home raided after driving “clown car” through McDonald’s drive-thru YouTube: Built Not BoughtYouTuber Sammy Eyles, known for his channel ‘Built Not Bought’, takes great pride in his high effort car modifications, but one of his stunts caught the eye of the Queensland Police in Australia, resulting in some big trouble for the content creator. Posting dangerous stunts on social media has become something of a trend. And in one of Built Not Bought’s videos, one of his personalized cars literally flipped over, speaking volumes towards the nature of his creative works. The driver and individuals involved appear unharmed in the video, but dangers put on display in the video are undeniable. The creator has had multiple run ins with the police prior to the entire situation blowing up in his face, with one of the first having occurred after going to a McDonald’s drive-thru. Though they initially let him go, his viral videos showcasing consistent breaking of the law through unregulated modifications on vehicles, which the authorities labeled as defective upon inspection, brought the attention of the Queensland Police. According to the New York Post, the police raided the content creator’s home, taking “all [his] hard drives, computers, phones, cameras, everything.” Five of his cars were labeled defective by the police, and two of them were seized. SID, the car shown in the videos above, was included among the vehicles taken from Eyles. Eyles was arrested and charged with multiple counts of “dangerous operation of a motor vehcile”, including “careless driving”, operating a “defective vehicle”, and driving “with passengers unrestrained”. But it wasn’t just the main creator who is in trouble. Nine others, who were involved in the Eyles’ network, also received Traffic Infringement notices. As of now, the amount owed sums up to $27,800, a number which may continue to rise as the police continue their investigations.

YouTuber ‘Ice_Poseidon’ Threatens Legal Action After Video Surfaces of Him Making “Racist” Comments at a Restaurant – Dexerto
YouTuber ‘Ice_Poseidon’ Threatens Legal Action After Video Surfaces of Him Making “Racist” Comments at a Restaurant Controversial YouTuber ‘Ice_Poseidon’ has threatened legal action after being accused of intentionally saying racists things in a public setting. This comes in response to radio host and self proclaimed ‘anti-racism strategist’ Tariq Nasheed posting a video of the YouTuber on Twitter, captioned with some strong, accusatory words. The video, posted on May 28th, depicts Ice_Poseidon and some of his friends/associates sitting in a restaurant type setting and outwardly making comments and jokes. After a period of time, they get confronted by an African American gentlemen, who is clearly upset by what the group had been saying. The situation becomes more heated and tense as time passes, and it appears that both parties get kicked out of the restaurant by the end of the video. Suspected white supremacist “youtuber” Ice Poseidon and some of his alt-right affiliated buddies were in a restaurant in Los Angeles making slick little racist comments out loud around Black customers, and they ended up getting G-checked. Remove this tweet or I will have to start the legal process of sueing for slander. — Ice_Poseidon (@REALIcePoseidon) May 28, 2018 Nasheed was apparently unfazed by the threat, essentially telling Ice_Poseidon that it was game on. Of course this is not the first time that Ice_Poseidon has found himself in a spotlight of controversy; the content creator remains banned from Twitch after a 2017 swatting incident occurred as a result of him publicly revealing his location. Whether or not he does decide to pursue legal action, it is worth keeping an eye to see whether this video and situation lands him in hot water yet again.

YouTuber hits back as fans complain about Jeffree Star breakup coverage – Dexerto
YouTuber hits back as fans complain about Jeffree Star breakup coverage Agenda-Free TV host Steve Lookner has responded to viewers who criticized him for covering Jeffree Star and Nathan Schwandt’s breakup on his channel, explaining that he cares about the story and hitting out at those who think they can control what he covers. Star is one of the biggest beauty creators on YouTube, with over 17 million subscribers and millions of views on every video. The 34-year-old posts beauty and cosmetic videos, but also uploaded vlogs featuring his partner Nathan, even showing off the dream house they were moving to on January 1. Less than two weeks later, Star uploaded a video on January 11 confirming that the relationship was finished after days of speculation, and after deciding to cover the story on his channel, Lookner faced criticism from his audience who felt that he shouldn’t be focusing on this kind of content. With the confirmation sparking discussion across social media, Lookner decided to discuss the news on his Agenda-Free TV YouTube livestream, which sees him cover breaking news and current events in a way which he believes holds no bias, trying to show every side of the story to his audience. While discussing the story on January 11, he received some criticism from his audience for his decision to talk about a subject so far away from his normal content, and after growing increasingly frustrated at the complaints, decided to hit back and explain his decision. “It’s unbelievable. We’ve got to do a stream like this every once in a while,” he said after reading his chat. “First of all, I’d do it anyway because I care about the story so I’m covering it. Also, it gets rid of the people who treat this channel like their own personal news channel.” “If I ever report on something that they’re not personally interested in, they’re such babies. It’s like ‘Oh my gosh, you’re reporting on a story I’m not personally interested in. How dare you! He’s a reporting on a story that I’m not interested in, what are you doing Steve!’ Ridiculous. Nobody has anything better to do than watch something they’re not interested in and complain about it. What kind of baby do you have to be to yell at somebody for covering the number one trending story on Twitter.” Clip starts at 32:40 for mobile users. While Lookner’s audience may have been upset at his decision to cover the news, Jeffree Star’s video on the breakup has been viewed 25 million times in just over two days, as fans tune in to hear why the relationship came to an end. According to Star, the pair separated after family members spread gossip to the media, before discussing how they had fallen out of love, but would always deeply care for each other.

YouTuber has Rocket Launcher explode in their hands as devastating test goes awry – Dexerto
YouTuber has Rocket Launcher explode in their hands as devastating test goes awry YouTube: Ballistic High-SpeedUS Army veteran Adam Knowles had an RPG-7 explode on him during a recent shoot for the Ballistic High-Speed YouTube channel. Now recovering from the incident, he just watched the footage back for the first time. Content warning: Given the nature of the video in focus, this article discusses the devastating injuries sustained during the shoot. This material may be distressing to some readers. Knowles was the victim of a devastating explosives incident in November. While filming for the Ballistic High-Speed channel, assessing “the dangers” of back-blast from a range of launchers, an RPG-7 fire didn’t go as planned. Upon triggering the weapon, part of the rocket exploded immediately, knocking Knowles to the ground unconscious in a split moment. The impact breaking his jaw, fracturing his skull, while leaving his body wounded with shrapnel and third-degree burns. Now recovering from the near-catastrophic mishap, the US Army veteran just watched the footage back for the first time, going through the situation as he recalled it. While doing “a lot better” now as the year winds down, he still has a “solid few months” of recovery left to get back to relative normalcy after the explosion. Though in light of “multiple skin grafts, stiches, and other surgeries,” his medical bills have since piled up to just shy of $300,000. Walking back through the day of the misfire, the YouTubers explained how the shoot consisted of multiple launcher tests, and the RPG-7 happened to be the “final shot of the day.” Despite running all the usual safety checks and being as cautious as possible, something went wrong during this last fire and in the blink of an eye, Knowles was “on the ground.” “The Rocket Launcher basically exploded.” With his helmet was sent flying from the force, Knowles was knocked out immediately, well before he even hit the ground. Calling 911 right away, it was some time before a helicopter was able to airlift him to the nearest medical facility. During this period, he had “no recollection of the incident after the countdown.” Back on his feet in the latest video and aiming to make a full recovery over the coming months, Knowles is committed to “moving forward” with the Ballistic High-Speed YouTube channel. The incident seemingly won’t deter him from future content creation.

But one app that’s experiencing a rapid rise in popularity is making other platforms rethink their strategy when it comes to the kind of content they push on their site. TikTok has built an empire out of 1 minute long videos that feature anything from lip-syncing to comedy, and it’s increasingly becoming the go-to place for viral content. YouTube launched its new feature, YouTube Shorts, in the US on March 18. The comment section of both videos are filled with people poking fun at the YouTuber’s over-the-top reaction, and wondering how the video ended up getting such a crazy amount of views. It seems as though YouTube is keen for its new ‘Shorts’ feature to take off and rival TikTok, which may account for the effort they are putting into the new endeavor. Regardless, the views on Anthony’s videos will no doubt inspire many to give the new feature a go, in hopes that they may be able to achieve viral success.

YouTuber Hank Green responds as Ranboo fans compare him to Minecraft star – Dexerto
YouTuber Hank Green responds as Ranboo fans compare him to Minecraft star YouTube: VlogBrothers/RanbooPopular YouTuber and author Hank Green responded to some wild Twitter speculation that he is, in fact, the man behind Ranboo’s channel as he was quite confused by all the comparisons. For years, hiding your face and real name has been something many YouTubers have chosen to do. It adds to the allure of their content as fans are desperate to find out who they are. Of course, that leads to some wild speculation, but there are plenty of YouTubers who like to have fun with it. As we’ve seen in the past, some faceless YouTubers will bring together a varied selection of other content creators and get them to claim responsibility for hiding behind the mask. Minecraft Ranboo, who is a part of the DreamSMP server with the likes of TommyInnit and Tubbo, is one of those who chooses to keep his identity pretty secret, wearing a black and white mask to hide his face whenever he appears on camera. Some fans on Twitter believed they had cracked the code and claimed that Hank Green, who is a part of the uber-popular Vlogbrothers channel with his brother John, was the person pulling the strings behind the Ranboo channel given the similarities between the two and their vibes. So, after being inundated with comments about it, he finally responded on TikTok, noting his confusion. “I’m afraid to talk about it on Twitter, so I’m gonna talk about it here,” he started. “I see people on Twitter all the time saying Hank Greene has Ranboo vibes. What is a Ranboo vibe? Can you guys tell me?” Plenty of fans quickly responded and informed the YouTuber that it wasn’t actually anything to worry about. “Ranboo vibes I think are just very friendly and a little bit chaotic sorta like a golden retriever?” said one fan. “Oh this is great news,” he replied.

YouTuber has channel terminated after troll takes advantage of platform’s policies – Dexerto
YouTuber has channel terminated after troll takes advantage of platform’s policies NordWood Themes / Mark KönigA troll’s targeted attack has resulted in a YouTuber having his channel terminated by the platform through no fault of their own. YouTube’s copyright policy intends to protect intellectual property, but the platform has seemingly left a loophole for trolls to misuse. For the time being, it does not properly protect against fraudulent claims, or so it appears. This means that anyone posing as the copyright owner may declare certain property as their own, without sufficient evidence. YouTuber Jay Kay found this out the hard way after receiving three copyright strikes, resulting in his channel being terminated. Jay Kay tweeted about the incident on June 2; sharing the details of his channel’s termination, and expressing his frustration with the platform. “I have contacted [YouTube] about this a few times, starting with when my channel received the first strike,” Jay Kay explained. However, the platform seemingly failed to resolve the issue in time, and the YouTuber’s channel has ultimately been removed. To add insult to injury, Jay Kay is a member of ‘Lostwave’. A community that aims to accredit songs that are available, but have yet to be named or claimed by any particular artist. The community hopes that by putting a spotlight on these songs, the artist may come forward. However, Jay Kay has claimed he was not the only ‘Lostwave’ channel to receive false copyright strikes. He tweeted, “I was not the only one, but so far I was the only one terminated.” Tech platforms’ content moderation policies can sometimes be used to benefit innovative trolls. And as Jay Kay unfortunately discovered on YouTube, automated processes aren’t always equipped to protect content creators. For all the latest YouTube news, check out our page here.

YouTuber had to beg fans to stop showing up at father’s funeral – Dexerto
YouTuber had to beg fans to stop showing up at father’s funeral Popular YouTuber and beauty guru Bretman Rock is asking fans for privacy after fans showed up to the funeral of his late father asking for pictures. While internet fame might seem like sunshine and roses, many influencers have complained of over-enthusiastic fans who take their fandom too far, with some even being stalked and harassed in real life. Boasting a fanbase of over six million subscribers on YouTube, makeup mogul Bretman Rock is no stranger to having a huge audience – but some of his fans are overstepping personal boundaries by showing up to the funeral of his late father. Rock opened up about the less-than-savory situation in a series of Tweets on November 21, claiming that fans had discovered the location of the funeral, and were even snapping photos of his father and grieving family. “Can people just let me be sad for once?” Rock wrote. “I’m here in the Philippines for my dad who just passed, don’t come to my house and ask me for pictures. So many people showed up to my dad’s funeral uninvited and started taking pics of my dad and my family.” Can people just let me be sad for onces…. I’m here in the Philippines for my dad who just passed, don’t come to my house and ask me for pictures.. so many people showed up to my dads funeral uninvited and started taking pics of my dad and my family.. Like why? It’s common sense — Bretman Rock Pascual (@bretmanrock) November 21, 2019 Rock went on to ask the overbearing fans why they thought asking for a photo during such an emotional time was acceptable in a striking Tweet that showcases the hefty price of fame in the digital age. “I just don’t understand why people think it’s okay to ask me for pictures when my eyes are literally swollen from crying,” he continued. “How you you gonna say ‘Condolences, can we take a picture?’” I just don’t understand why people think it’s okay to ask me for pictures when my eyes are literally swollen from crying … how you you gonna say “condolences , can we take a picture ?” — Bretman Rock Pascual (@bretmanrock) November 21, 2019 Rock isn’t the only YouTuber to have undergone such an unfortunate breach of privacy, either: YouTube duo the Dolan Twins similarly asked fans to refrain from meeting up at their own father’s funeral in late January of 2018, after the hashtags “#seandolanfuneralparty” and “#SeanDolanMeetUpParty” surfaced across Twitter. We want this ceremony to be an opportunity for the people who had a close connection with my Dad to say goodbye and pay their respects. We appreciate all of our fans so so much. Please respect My father Sean, Ethan, my family, and me send your love through social media only! — Grayson Dolan (@GraysonDolan) January 22, 2019 News of Rock’s situation also follows a disturbing development for Twitch streamer “Sweet Anita,” whose stalker was released from prison without charges after moving to her city, and even sleeping behind her home. Sadly I have had a fair amount of online stalkers. But this one was IRL, he spent hours outside my house, he even slept behind my house, and managed to assault me. I’ve been harassed for a month now and I’m relieved that something might be done about it. — Sweet Anita (@sweetanita) November 7, 2019 With the rising, perceived “accessibility” of online entertainers, issues like these continue to arise – but stalking and harassing such personalities is never “okay,” no matter how much fans think they might “know” them.

YouTuber Hampton Brandon arrested again during IRL stream – Dexerto
YouTuber Hampton Brandon arrested again during IRL stream Everipedia / PixabayYouTuber and IRL streamer Brandon ‘Hampton Brandon‘ Grosso was arrested during a live broadcast on September 3, making this yet another run in with the the police in recent months. Hampton Brandon can’t seem to stay out of trouble, as he’s had a string of arrests during his live broadcasts over the last two years. On September 3, the streamer was doing an IRL broadcast during the night, when him and his friend decided to get up to some mischief that landed him in hot water yet again with law enforcement. Taking out the trash While streaming with his friend, the two were on a pier by the ocean when Brandon got the idea to take a public trash can and throw it into the ocean. “You need help? You need some help picking that up?” his friend laughed, as the YouTuber attempted to pick the full trash can up. “You can’t pick this up. You’re weak!” the streamer replied. His friend then counted him down from three, as the YouTuber lifted the trash can onto the guard rail, before pushing it into the ocean. As soon as the trash hit the water, the streamer took off running down the pier. His friend, holding the camera, realized that a police vehicle was pulling up. “Oh shit there is someone coming up. Oh fuck, there’s a cop right there. Oh my god” he gasped. The cameraman then walked closer to the glow of the police lights, revealing multiple officers. “Sorry, the gate was open! It was half open!” the friend exclaimed. After being asked to put the camera down, the two streamers were apprehended. The camera, still running on the floor, caught the police informing the duo that they had broadcasted the evidence of their act live. “We have this all. You livestreamed it. So it’s all saved. So we have all that information. So you lying to us is not in your best interest!” the officer warned. (Timestamp of 01:55 for mobile viewers.) This isn’t the first time the YouTuber has been arrested either. On June 12, 2018 he was arrested during a stream for assault and drinking in public. Then only a month later on July 6, he was arrested by a bounty hunter on stream after having six outstanding warrants in the state of Arizona. The streamer was also arrested on April 2 of this year while broadcasting, and has been banned on various platforms such as Twitch, Periscope, and YouTube as a result. As of the time of this article, it’s unclear what the YouTuber was charged with as the police were questioning him about entering an area he didn’t belong. But he also dumped a public trash can into the ocean, so it’s possible that he may also be in trouble for that as well.

GothamChess falls short of Madrid Chess Festival win after drawing to 15 year-old prodigy – Dexerto
GothamChess falls short of Madrid Chess Festival win after drawing to 15 year-old prodigy Federico MarínChess YouTuber GothamChess fell just short of winning it all at the Madrid Chess Festival, but he still had a stellar showing overall considering the level of competition at the event. The event is GothamChess’ first tournament in classical chess in almost two years. He is participating as a part of his renewed journey to earn the Grandmaster title. The player stopped competing and seeking the title years ago, but recently stated his renewed intentions to become a GM and is creating content around his coaching sessions and journey. He was the lowest-rated participant at the Spanish event, at 2322 FIDE, and made a surprise run to the top of the standings from the start. GothamChess has made three draws and defeated Tomás Sosa, Diego Macías, and Lelys Martínez. Both Sosa and Martínez are Grandmasters and two of the higher-rated players at the event. The festival has been an emotional rollercoaster for the creator as his participation in the event comes after the controversial Clash of Claims tournament also hosted in Madrid. “My first classical chess game in 2+ years. My lowest elo in nearly 10 years. And I defeated a 2530 GM with the black pieces, the top seed. I’m so happy I could cry,” Rozman said on social media after a match at the Madrid Chess Festival. However, he wasn’t able to bring the event. He drew against Daniel Tabuenca, a 15 year-old Chess prodigy who kept him from getting the essential win he needed to secure first. Additionally, his only loss through the entire event was to Julio Suarez, but that one loss kept him from being in contention to earn first. Suarez would end up winning the entire event. Despite all this, he landed in second place at the event and got that much closer to getting the title of Chess Grandmaster, a pretty good result considering he’s still shaking the rust off. “Not bad for my first tournament in over 2 years. Much to learn. See you in July.” The content creator went over his games and updated his audience on the event on his YouTube channel over the course of the tournament. The wider chess community has also taken notice of GothamChess’s performance, with even Hikaru Nakamura making content around the event and breaking down the influencer’s games.

YouTuber goes viral pretending to be the Twitch staff that banned Indiefoxx – Dexerto
YouTuber goes viral pretending to be the Twitch staff that banned Indiefoxx YouTube/Sweeneytv/Instagram/IndiefoxxA YouTuber has gone viral after uploading a hilarious video where he acts out being the Twitch staff member responsible for banning Indiefoxx after her controversial ASMR streams. Twitch appeared to take a stance against the new ASMR earlicking ‘meta’ by banning both Indiefoxx and Amouranth for three days back on June 18. However, the fact that it took so long to do so and the length of the bans were not well-received by others in the Twitch community. Big names such as Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel and Natalia ‘Alinity’ Mogollon have spoken out, accusing the platform of double standards while not doing enough to stop sexual content. With the Amazon-owned platform’s rules still up for interpretation and the site not commenting on individual suspensions, YouTuber Sweeneytv had quite a lot of material to work with for his sketch. In a video titled “POV: the Twitch mod who banned Indiefoxx,” Sweeneytv showed what he imagines Twitch would be like if revealed what happens behind the scenes to decide suspensions. “How’s it going there, I work for the Twitch staff, I’m one of the moderators. Today, I’m going to be viewing Indiefoxx to see whether or not she’s breaking our sexual guidelines,” he began, showing Indiefoxx’s stream alongside his. While the video of Indiefoxx was blurred, Sweeneytv joked that at Twitch, they like to upload these videos to YouTube so viewers can see what happens “behind the scenes.” The video continued with Sweeney watching footage of Indiefoxx lick her ASMR mic, viewing it as a form of “artistic expression” while her yoga pants and sexual pose was just “ergonomically friendly.” Eventually, he needs to consult Twitch’s guidelines on what is acceptable or not. Only after reading about how having a camera focused on a streamer’s “breast or buttocks” is prohibited, the “mod” made the call to ban her. The relatively short video spread like wildfire on YouTube, amassing over 500,000 views since being uploaded on June 19. Viewers got in on the fun too, with one commenting “true professionalism.” “Quality gameplay, I’m surprised she hasn’t been picked up by Cloud9 yet,” another user joked, earning a like from Sweeneytv himself. This video ended up spawning a series of sequels, where the YouTuber continues his role as a “Twitch mod” and explains other bans and unbans. “We are committed to ensuring that Twitch is not used for sexual exploitation. We understand that some nudity or sexual content may be intended for educational, scientific, artistic, newsworthy or academic purposes,” he said while reading a fake press release in a follow-up video. “Who are we to deny this type of transformative content? In all honesty, Twitch is now more than just a gaming site, people,” he continued. “In the case of Amouranth and Indiefoxx, we found that although they’ve had multiple bans, they have reached what we call double jeopardy where they cannot be charged with the same sexual ban again. So, as long as they create a new slightly different meta, they should be fine.” Of course, the real reason for both of the bans and how long they lasted remains unclear. Twitch itself has not commented on the ASMR ‘meta,’ and does not issue statements on individual bans, to respect the privacy of users.

Creators are recreating segments from the show, and YouTuber ‘Brianna’ is looking to take the crown for with video that’s been penned as the “most realistic” so far. They played Red Light Green Light, Honeycomb, Tug of War, the glass bridge game, and more. Although the video doesn’t have 456 participants like the Netflix show, she went out of her way to replicate it as best as she could. The effort that was put into the video is clearly shown, as the challenges that are played by the contestants are as close to the real thing as can be. Fans of the creator were also impressed by the video, as they showed gratitude for how realistic it truly was. One commenter said: “This is one of the most realistic squid game yt video I’ve ever seen!” Another fan said similar, “You have to do more of this stuff because it’s so realistic.” Brianna may currently hold the crown for the most realistic Squid Game recreation, many are expecting it to be short-lived when MrBeast’s video which will reportedly cost him $2M releases. As usual with any other MrBeast video, we shouldn’t expect anything other than crazy. However, a video of the magnitude he is planning may take a while to arrive.

YouTuber goes viral for reviewing Grandma who sells breakfast from her kitchen – Dexerto
YouTuber goes viral for reviewing Grandma who sells breakfast from her kitchen YouTube: Rate My TakeawayA Grandma has gone viral for making and selling a takeaway breakfast from her own home after a YouTuber gave her a glowing review. Far from your typical takeaway, it’s no surprise that this one-woman business attracted attention from local foodies. YouTuber Danny runs a small-time channel called Rate My Takeaways in which he travels the UK in search of the best food, and was drawn to this unusual breakfast spot. The entire video is without a doubt, quintessentially British. After seeing some great local reviews, Danny called up Marion Love and asked for a full English breakfast with the works: fried eggs, toast, black pudding, baked beans, mushrooms, sausages, bacon, and even homemade hash browns. Upon arriving at the terraced house on a little cobbled street in Bolton, Marion herself answered the door in a “Grandma’s Kitchen” apron. Meanwhile, Barry took out his own camping table and chair and set it up on the pavement outside. He received a huge breakfast, and as he dug in, gave his glowing review, commenting on the softness of the beans, how well cooked the eggs were, and the overall presentation. He was also ecstatic about Marion’s box of cookies which were oozing with melted chocolate. Viewers in the comments only had positive things to say about Danny himself, who certainly appeared to be an expert in his field, with one person writing: “That’s a review you can trust. He’s a chap who knows his way around a full english.” And everyone agreed – one comment that read “This man is what they call a quality bloke” received more than one thousand likes. The video itself has been viewed more than half a million times – an incredible feat considering Danny only started filming takeaway reviews in June 2020. It appears that the video recently appeared as recommended for users around the world, according to commons from viewers based in Brazil, the US and even Australia. Clearly the review has also done wonders for Grandma’s Kitchen, as Marion wrote underneath the video in response: “Just want to thank absolutely everyone for their amazing feedback off this video! I am absolutely blown away by everyone’s response.” “I’ve been receiving messages all day. People following my business pages and even had visitors off here for cookies. Thank you Rate my takeaway and thank you, everyone, for your kindness. I don’t like what I do I love it and this is why” On her Facebook page, Marion added that she’s received orders and messages from people from “Dubai, Australia, America all over the world showing love and support for my small little business.” Fans will also be pleased to know that Marion is growing her business even more and soon she’ll be dishing up tasty goods from a real shop in the future.

YouTuber goes viral for starting ‘Gay Burger’ restaurant chain – Dexerto
YouTuber goes viral for starting ‘Gay Burger’ restaurant chain Twitter, Instagram: @elijahdanielYouTube star Elijah Daniel has gone viral on social media after starting his very own burger chain — with an incredibly unique theme that’s turning heads across the net. On February 9, Daniel — best known for his time as part of a humorous duo with fellow influencer Christine Sydelko — has gone viral, once again, as a result of his latest project. This project, much like that of YouTuber MrBeast, is a restaurant chain, which specializes in hamburgers — more specifically, ones of the LGBTQIA+ variety. That’s right: Daniels’ burger chain is quite literally called Gay Burger, and it boasts a charming marketing scheme of rainbow-colored wrappings and humorous names for its food items, including (but not limited to) the I Like Chicks chicken sandwich and Extremely Gay loaded fries (complete with “gayoli” sauce). GAY BURGER NOW AVAILABLE IN LA, SF & NYC on DoorDash, Postmates, GrubHub. @GayBurgerCo 😭🌈🍔https://t.co/3Ap9sMhbvW pic.twitter.com/TNV5RtCpMB — elijah daniel (@elijahdaniel) February 9, 2021 Daniels’ “Gay Burger” chain isn’t just for fun and shock value, though; the influencer is donating all proceeds from the restaurant to the Los Angeles LGBT Center, which will be handled by his very own nonprofit org, Cult for Good. Unsurprisingly, the initiative has gone viral on Twitter — a development that is quite humorous to Daniel, who has reacted to both the outrage and the hilarity surrounding his new venture. That being said, Daniel’s viral idea was borne out of another YouTuber’s previous venture, with Daniel crediting his inspiration to MrBeast. In December 2020, MrBeast unveiled his own burger chain, which similarly took the internet by storm as the entire social media sphere scrambled to try out the unexpected food from one of YouTube’s biggest stars. “Gay Burger came along as a joke inspired by MrBeast Burger as a creative new way to raise money and help out small restaurants,” Daniel said of the project in an interview with Tubefilter. “It was originally a joke, where I just yelled, ‘I WANT A GAY BURGER CHAIN’ out of nowhere.” BURGERS ARE GAY NOW BURGERS ARE GAY NOW BURGERS ARE GAY NOW BURGERS ARE GAY NOW BURGERS ARE GAY NOW — elijah daniel (@elijahdaniel) February 9, 2021 This is far from the first time Daniel has pulled such a stunt: In June 2018, Daniel also became mayor of ‘Gay Hell,’ Michigan — a prank that similarly saw him make international headlines. Those interested in trying out Gay Burger can order from Los Angeles, New York City, and San Fransisco via DoorDash, Postmates and GrubHub.

YouTuber goes viral after earthquake ruins makeup tutorial – but was it real? – Dexerto
YouTuber goes viral after earthquake ruins makeup tutorial – but was it real? A YouTuber has gone viral after uploading a make-up tutorial that went spectacularly wrong during an earthquake. However, she might just be playing a prank on everybody. On July 5, Los Angeles, California was rocked with a huge 7.1 earthquake and a number of aftershocks that rumbled on throughout the night. It, obviously, interrupted plenty of daily activities in the surrounding area, and even played a part in messing up a number of Twitch streams – with fans witnessing Mike ‘shroud’ Grzesiek’s entire set-up shake during a game. However, one creator has seemingly used the moment to unfold two-year long pranks on viewers. Later in the day, on July 5, YouTuber ‘Ali J’ uploaded a video of herself having a ‘simple’ make-up tutorial being interrupted by the earthquake – giving her the seemingly perfect recipe for a viral video. The YouTuber started out by simply applying red lipstick to her lips before the earthquake struck and the make-up went across her face – leaving Ali J looking like the Joker from Batman. While the timing seemed remarkable, it’s just a bit too good to be true. Members of the YouTube comment section quickly went to work on dissecting the video for any little imperfection they could find, as they couldn’t believe it was real. It didn’t take look before some internet detectives found that all of the Ali J YouTube videos had been recorded in an Earthquake simulator – with comparison pictures of her background and videos from the simulator itself showing striking similarities. Others pointed out that the YouTuber had not uploaded a single video since April of 2018, with the background not changing at all in that span of time. Some viewers also noted that the title of the video made a point of having the date in there while the other uploads just went by the date that YouTube automatically produces. Now, nobody is quite sure just why all of the YouTuber’s videos were recorded inside this earthquake simulator and only one has been used as a part of the prank. It looks as though this prank was in-the-making for over two years, as Ali J used the room to record her ‘regular’ make-up tutorials, in the hope it would make the earthquake tutorial more legitimate. The person behind the YouTube account has not commented on the upload, but they haven’t been able to pull the wool over everybody’s eyes.

YouTuber gives $30,000 car away to whoever can take most paintball shots – Dexerto
YouTuber gives $30,000 car away to whoever can take most paintball shots YouTuber DailyFunnyMike gave away a brand-new Dodge Challenger after putting some folks through the wringer by seeing who could withstand the most paintball shots before quitting. Recording a challenge and giving something away on YouTube is a pretty surefire way to find yourself either going viral or building up a huge fan base. Jimmy ‘Mr Beast’ Donaldson might just be the biggest example of that success, giving away everything a few thousand dollars to a cool million by putting his friends and strangers in challenging scenarios. However, even with that much money on the line, not even Mr Beast has taken it to the levels of DailyFunnyMike, who utilized a paintball gun to deal some incredible pain in a bid to giveaway a $30,000 Dodge Challenger. In his aptly titled ‘Whoever Takes The Most Paintballs Wins New Car!’ video, the popular YouTuber tasked ten adults with the challenge of withstanding shots. Some, maybe expectedly, quit after a few shots but there were others who could barely handle the initial blow before bowing out. However, with such a big prize on the line, it was going to take the eventual final contestants to keep going for the long-haul. Requests of ten and 12 follow-up shots came in from the competitors but with some not wanting to keep up the pace, the host had to interject with a few words of encouragement. “Ain’t no sense in taking ten when you ain’t going to be in the lead,” he said, before putting the focus on the initial leader of the pack – Tookie. Even though ten contestants started the challenge, they were quickly whittled down to a final two in the form of Tookie and Khalil, prompting DailyFunnyMike to switch things up and put them head-to-head. With the pair suffering pain from rotating shots, with some even being pelted at their legs, it was Tookie who took home the car as the eventual winner, withstanding an eye-watering total of 108 paintball shots before the threat of stomach shots prompted Khalil to quit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-XGNcvK9YY Even though he quit, it wasn’t like Khalil was going home empty-handed as DailyFunnyMike handed over a few hundred dollars before getting the car settled with Tookie. What his next, seemingly dastardly challenge and its prize will be, remains to be seen, but it’ll take some going to beat over 100 paintball shots.

YouTuber goes viral after rocking out with singing pet bird – Dexerto
YouTuber goes viral after rocking out with singing pet bird YouTube: Frank Maglio Tico & the ManYouTuber Frank Maglio has gone viral for playing classic rock tracks on guitar while his pet bird Tico sings along with whatever melody it thinks appropriate. The internet absolutely loves adorable, amusing, or talented animals, from dogs that go “owa owa” sparking a global meme, to cats that will willingly partake in a pampering session. One of the latest pets to get the spotlight is a Yellow-headed Amazon Parrot called Tico who demonstrated his singing talent to his surprised owner Frank Maglio just after the global health crisis hit. Amazed at Tico’s talent, Frank uploaded a couple of videos to his Facebook page, and it became such a hit that he began a YouTube channel where he uploads regular musical numbers with the songful bird. Yellow-headed Amazons are known for their impressive vibrato vocals, often described as operatic, however, Tico clearly has a penchant for rock music, and together Frank and Tico have covered a number of classic tracks including Stairway to Heaven, Don’t Fear the Reaper, and Psycho Killer. Now Frank and Tico are getting the viral treatment they clearly deserve. On Twitter, one person shared their cover of Don’t Fear the Reaper and wrote “obsessed with this guy who just uploads videos of him playing classic rock riffs while his birb freestyles vocals.” Almost 200,000 people have liked the tweet at the time of writing. https://twitter.com/rtnordy/status/1397656482020216832?s=20 Twitter users absolutely adored Tico’s skills, with one person responding “That bird has better pitch and timing than some singers (human) I’ve played with,” while another added, “it’s a million yeses from me, you’re going through to the live final.” Millions of people have watched Frank’s videos, and currently, the musical duo has more than 100,000 subscribers and counting. Many are especially impressed by the fact that Tico actually appears to be singing in tune and even creating his own harmonies. Although Tico doesn’t accurately copy the lyrics and vocals of each track, his own interpretation is definitely just as impressive.

YouTuber Gabbie Hanna pleads with her stalker to leave her alone – Dexerto
YouTuber Gabbie Hanna pleads with her stalker to leave her alone Gabbie Hanna, YouTubeYouTube star and music artist Gabbie Hanna recently revealed that she is being stalked in a series of desperate tweets, pleading with the stranger to leave her family alone. Gabbie Hanna is a popular face on YouTube, boasting over six million subscribers due to her humorous vlogs and original songs. However, internet stardom isn’t all sunshine and roses, with many online entertainers experiencing serious breaches of privacy as a result of their popularity — an issue that Hanna is also, unfortunately, suffering from. The YouTuber opened up about her current struggle with a stalker in a Tweet on May 8, where she revealed the “worst” part of the entire ordeal to her 2.7 million followers. “The worst part of having a stalker is the paranoia,” she admitted. “It makes it hard to engage with fans, because you never know if it’s the person that hurt you behind the keyboard. You can block them time and time again, but they’ll find a way. They always find a f**king way.” https://twitter.com/GabbieHanna/status/1258916068254334976?s=20 That’s not all; the star went on to plead with her stalker to leave her and her family alone, claiming that she doesn’t know what the individual wants, should they have some sort of ulterior motive for their stalking. “This is me pleading with you, knowing you’re reading this,” she continued. “Please, PLEASE leave me alone. Leave my friends, family, and fans alone. I don’t know what you want from me, I don’t know what you’re looking for or waiting for. PLEASE let me live in peace.” https://twitter.com/GabbieHanna/status/1258917609447153664?s=20 While there’s no information or clues as to who the stalker might be, Hanna does boast her fair share of haters, having been the subject of internet vitriol after former friend Jessi Smiles came out with a slew of allegations against her fellow content creator. Although there’s no telling if Hanna’s stalker is an angry critic or an overly enthusiastic fan, she isn’t the only entertainer dealing with such a dilemma as of late; YouTubers the Dolan Twins also revealed they’ve hired “full-time security” to handle stalkers in a video posted the same day as Hanna’s Tweets. No matter the case, it’s never okay to invade someone’s personal privacy, even if they share their lives with fans online.

YouTuber Gabi DeMartino tips Domino’s Pizza driver $2,020 – Dexerto
YouTuber Gabi DeMartino tips Domino’s Pizza driver $2,020 Twitter: GabcakeYouTuber Gabi DeMartino has gone viral after a very generous tip to her Domino’s delivery driver, giving an almost 10,000% bump on the cost of the pizza, a whopping $2,020. Being a YouTube star can result in a very healthy income, and some like to share the wealth around. Notably, MrBeast has made his entire channel revolve around giving away huge amounts of cash for completing wacky challenges. It’s obvious that giving away money can make for great content, so combining this generosity for the purpose of YouTube videos is a win-win for all involved. Especially, if you’re the lucky pizza delivery guy who gets $2,000 tip on a $22 delivery. DeMartino, whose channel ‘Fancy Vlogs by Gab’ boasts over 3 million subscribers, was behind the incredibly generous surprise. With an estimated net worth of $1.5 million, many of Gabi’s videos focus on her spending a lot of money on herself, splashing out on designer shopping sprees. But, proving she has a giving side too, she decided to give the massive $2,020 tip to a college student working as a Domino’s delivery driver in Pennsylvania. The delivery driver, Nyles Harris told WFMZ, “I didn’t really believe it until I got back to my car,” and that his boss was happy for him to keep the tip, which he used to pay off debt, bills and gave some to his mom. Apparently DeMartino was inspired to give the massive tip by a Facebook post, which suggested a $2,020 tip to reign in 2020. “I completely overpaid the pizza guy because new year, new me, and I just want to give back,” Gabi explained. “There are so many things that I feel guilty of, I just want to feel like a better person.” Considering the video has racked up almost half a million views, it’s possible that Gabi made much of the $2,000 back from the ad revenue. Gabi’s next video saw her go even more viral, as she went on a ‘no-budget’ shopping spree. Although the video clocked up over a million views, it also saw some backlash come her way for the extravagant spending, and Gabi has since disabled the comments.

YouTuber found buried in a couple’s backyard after disappearing on Christmas Day – Dexerto
YouTuber found buried in a couple’s backyard after disappearing on Christmas Day InstagramThe body of Brazilian YouTuber Carlos Henrique Medeiros was found buried in his friends’ garden after having been reported missing on Christmas Day. Carlos Henrique Medeiros, 26, was reported missing on Christmas Day after he failed to return home from dinner with friends, according to CNN Brasil. Carlos was known online for his prank videos and skits. He had 1.77 million subscribers on YouTube and 86,800 Instagram followers. Carlos’ sister Cátia told CNN that he called around 9 pm on December 24th saying he would like to spend the night with his colleagues, who live on the same street in the neighborhood in Itapecerica da Serra, close to São Paulo, Brazil. However, the colleagues claimed Carlos had left their house to go home at 2 am. Speaking with JAM Press, Carlos’ other sister, Cristiane Aparecida Medeiros, said that their whole family had been looking for him in hospitals and woods around where they live until Saturday, December 30, when a friend of Carlos “saw a mound of dirt in the house of this couple” he had visited for the holidays. Cristiane said: “They went in and saw my brother’s T-shirt showing in the dirt. “They called the police, who went there and found him buried.” Couple claims YouTuber died from an overdose while having sex According to the police, the man and the woman who owned the house claimed that the influencer had died while doing drugs and having sex with one of the homeowners’ sister, the New York Post reported. “The couple’s version is this: They buried him because they didn’t know what to do with the body,” Police Chief Luís Roberto Faria Hellmeister told JAM Press. The couple have since turned themselves into the police, and an autopsy has begun to determine Carlos’ cause of death. However, according to the police, they found no evidence of stab wounds, strangulation, or gunshots on Carlos’ body. Investigations are ongoing and the police will await the results of the medical examination into how the influencer died. If the couple’s participation in the death is confirmed, the man and woman could be charged with homicide and concealment of a corpse. Medeiros was known for sharing videos of jokes and pranks on YouTube, but had stopped creating content following his father’s death in 2023, his friend Robson Casemiro told Brazilian news outlet Metropoles. “When his father died, he changed completely. His shine disappeared. He started using drugs, cocaine. This friend (the male suspect) also used these things,” Robson said. “One hypothesis is that they were both using drugs, he had a mental (breakdown) and attacked Henrique. Another is money.”

YouTuber FouseyTUBE responds after being banned on Twitch – Dexerto
YouTuber FouseyTUBE responds after being banned on Twitch YouTuber Yusef ‘FouseyTUBE’ Erekat responded with confusion after finding his Twitch channel has been banned on November 20. With over 10 million subscribers on YouTube, Erekat is better known as a YouTuber than streamer, but fans also watch him on Twitch when he occasionally hosts broadcasts playing games like Fortnite. However, his channel was struck down on November 20, likely for breaching the community guidelines, but Fousey himself claims to be unaware of the exact reason. Twitch bans will typically last anywhere from 24 hours to 30 days, with repeat or severe violations resulting in a permanent account ban. Why was FouseyTUBE banned from Twitch? The platform will typically inform partnered streamers of which community guideline violation they perpetrated, but even he isn’t sure what the cause of the suspension is. After discovering that he had been banned, he posted on Twitter: “What does that mean and what did I do?” https://twitter.com/fousey/status/1197393908134629376 In comparison to his popularity on YouTube, his Twitch channel boasted a fairly small fanbase for him, with just less than 100,000 followers. When one fan suggested he move to Mixer – Microsoft’s streaming platform – Erekat teased that it might be something he consider, responding “what’s that?” with a wink face. https://twitter.com/fousey/status/1197396528714747904 Mixer has been making attempts to muscle its way into Twitch and YouTube’s share of the livestreaming market. They have acquired some of the biggest names to stream exclusively on their platform, including Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek. If Fousey does plan on moving his livestreaming exploits elsewhere though, he may be more inclined to simply stream on YouTube instead, where he already has 10 million subscribers. YouTube has also been making attempts to improve its own livestream capabilities in order to rival Twitch. Fousey himself has been making a comeback to Twitch, back to more frequent uploads, following the July 15 scandal where he deleted his channel.

YouTuber fools the internet with fake Dream McDonald’s meal collab – Dexerto
YouTuber fools the internet with fake Dream McDonald’s meal collab YouTube: Liam BedfordYouTuber Liam Bedford managed to prank fans of uber-popular Minecraft personality ‘Dream’ by faking a collaborative McDonald’s meal with the faceless content creator. Dream is one of the handful of influencers who skyrocketed to fame in 2020 amid the Among Us craze / Minecraft resurgence. Much like Corpse Husband, this YouTuber doesn’t show his face — and the mystery surrounding him has proven to be a major benefit to the star. Dream boasts over 22 million followers on YouTube, managing to gain 14 million of them in the span of a single year after going viral in 2020. Now, the Minecrafter even makes his own music and merchandise… but has he scored a deal with McDonald’s, too? As it turns out, he did not — but UK-based YouTuber Liam Bedford sure fooled the internet into thinking he did. In a June 7 upload, Bedford explained how he tricked Dream’s fanbase into believing the faceless influencer had, like BTS and Travis Scott before him, nabbed a custom meal at McDonald’s. Bedford went to the trouble of creating a fake marketing campaign for Dream’s McDonald’s “meal,” buying supplies and food from the famous fast-food chain to produce a series of professional-looking photo advertisements. Next, he “leaked” the images to the net via TikTok by creating a fake “Dream stan” profile, through which he disseminated the fake advertisement in a video that quickly took the Dream fanbase by storm. Read More: How does Dream make money? – It wasn’t long before Twitter lit up with speculation surrounding the meal, with fans all over the world getting excited about what looked to be a huge development for one of YouTube’s biggest stars. Alas, it was all just a prank, although Bedford does hope that McDonald’s will collaborate with a YouTuber some time in the future. While Dream’s McDonald’s meal isn’t in the cards right now, he did score a burger at MrBeast Burger a few months back, featuring his signature green color in the form of Avocado — something that Bedford made sure to include in his fake promo pics. This isn’t the first time Bedford has pulled off a prank using Dream, either; the YouTuber also turned the Dream SMP into a #1 best-selling book, explaining what the survival multiplayer server actually is to those out of the Minecraft loop. While Dream has yet to respond to this elaborate practical joke, Bedford’s video certainly speaks to how quickly misinformation can be online… and there’s no telling if Dream’s fans will be amused by his antics or not.

YouTuber finds most expensive McDonalds in the world and it’s “barely edible” – Dexerto
YouTuber finds most expensive McDonalds in the world and it’s “barely edible” YouTube: Drew BinskyA YouTuber who travels the world and tries McDonalds in as many countries as possible wasn’t impressed during his ventures to the most expensive McDonalds in the world in South America. Drew Binsky has over 2.5 million subscribers on YouTube, travelling the world and visiting a multitude of countries to experience, and showcase, life and different cultures across the globe. Of course, you wouldn’t be getting a true comparison without trying different McDonalds’. They’re a global corporation and beloved by most, a sanctuary for the confused traveller who is unsure what to do in new territories. Luckily, if you’re making plans to travel, Binsky has traveled to 194 different countries, and now he’s given us one place we should definitely avoid when it comes to the golden arches: Venezuela. Venezuela is a beautiful country that, in recent years, has struggled economically. In turn, we’ve seen hyperinflation and the value of their currency, the Bolivar, drop significantly. Despite this, McDonalds prices there continue to rise, becoming the most expensive country for McDonalds in the world in relation to national wages. So obviously, while staying there, Binsky had to test whether it was really worth the money, and left utterly disappointed. Paying around 17.5m VES (~$7 USD) for his meal, Drew was warned by his friends that it wouldn’t be worth the price — and they were right. “It’s edible, but barely,” he said after biting into the Big Cheddar, their version of the Big Mac. He then went on to express his disappointment with the nuggets’ packaging, as well as the “rough” nuggets themselves. Timestamp 4:10 Binsky goes on to explain that he’s a big fan of going to McDonalds in other countries, but in Venezuela, he has to give it a rating of 3/10. He even spoke to some locals who weren’t happy with their McDonalds experiences either, even saying that they got cucumber in their Big Macs instead of pickles. So needless to say, with so many more food options in Venezuela, this is probably one place you should avoid looking for your home comforts.

FlightReacts is one of YouTube’s biggest reaction channels. Boasting over 4.6 million subscribers, Flight frequently posts reaction videos to NBA games and, more recently, has focused on developing his music career. Alongside his music and reaction videos, Flight is a big gaming streamer, who predominantly plays NBA 2K. He has also regularly played Fortnite duos with girlfriend Andrea ‘Dreyahh’ Gonzalez, a Fortnite streamer herself with nearly 60,000 Twitch followers. However, the couple were in the spotlight for the wrong reasons on March 19 when Flight was midway through streaming a reaction to rapper DDG’s new single, Rule #1. Flight and Dreyahh got into an argument which resulted in Dreyahh switching the stream off. Flights soon to be ex ends his stream pic.twitter.com/bkAMUCPZS7 — Sharpe goat (@Dame_Wrld) March 20, 2021 Dreyahh had asked Flight for a conversation, but Flight requested she hold off until he finished his stream. “I told you, stop embarrassing me,” she said, before taking control of Flight’s computer. “You’re b****ing me around.” Fans were immediately concerned for Flight, who became a father for the first time on March 3. Concern turned to confusion when Dreyahh later explained that, despite their feud, the couple was still together. https://twitter.com/theonlydreyahh/status/1373078679446716419 However, FlightReacts has since explained his side of the story, where he expressed how he felt he was “held hostage” by Dreyahh, before eventually convincing her to leave his house after five hours of trying. Flight explained he would release a video fully explaining the situation. He also contradicted Dreyahh’s claims they are still together, by classing himself as single. https://twitter.com/Flight23White/status/1373204496134762500 Update 21/03/2021: Flight later released a full explanation, where he claimed Dreyahh was put out by him reacting to rapper DDG’s video, which contained scantily-clad women. “At the end of the day, Andrea’s a really good woman, she has a good heart,” he added. “She’s just really crazy and psycho.” The couple ended up having a fight which escalated to the point the police were called after neighbours issued a noise complaint. Dreyahh has since tweeted claims that Flight has assaulted her on at least one occasion, which he is yet to respond to.

YouTuber Fidias faces backlash over controversial thumbnail of “poor” children – Dexerto
YouTuber Fidias faces backlash over controversial thumbnail of “poor” children YouTube: FidiasYouTuber Fidias has been met with criticism after releasing a travel blog featuring an insensitive thumbnail. Fifi ‘Fidias’ Panayiotou is known for releasing prank and challenge style videos on YouTube, but can also be seen traversing the world in heaps of vlogs. The content creator has made it no secret that he’s after the same success as MrBeast, though the YouTuber’s latest upload has set him back in that regard. Fidias is receiving backlash for using a questionable thumbnail in a new vlog. Fidias compared to MrBeast for the wrong reasons On July 17, Fidias uploaded a travel blog titled ‘I Spent 100 Hours In The World’s Poorest Country’. The video sees Fidias travel to Burundi, with the goal of helping out various groups of people. Though the content creator seemingly had good intentions, Fidias’ thumbnail choice has prompted concern on social media. The thumbnail, which still remains on his channel at the time of this article, shows Fidias surrounded by a group of Burundian children while pulling an exaggerated facial expression. The seemingly exploitive thumbnail has sparked Twitter users such as @GRIMVVICE to compare Fidias unfavorably to his idol, MrBeast: “MrBeast Ruined a Whole Generation of YouTubers.” Twitter user @LucidNightmare agreed on Fidias’ attempt to replicate MrBeast’s success: “Why the f*** does everyone that wins 9on mrbeast just become a mrbeast copycat YouTuber.” “If I won I’d probably use the money to make YouTube but I wouldn’t be making these clickbait ass thumbnails.” Many have joined the conversation, with another user adding “how do you make that thumbnail and be like “yeah that’s good”. While some Twitter users have claimed Fidias’ actions were “wholesome” in the context of the video, the thumbnail style appears to be part of a larger problem. One user, @thatsmyeyellin said: “the genre of images where they gather the little African children and they surround one person in the picture (usually a foreigner) is literally so god savior-esque.” “People constantly try to defend it but literally look at this guy,” they added. As it stands, the thumbnail is still live on the video and the YouTuber has not addressed the criticism. Though, who knows if he will.

In the past few months, female streamers have highlighted these types of occurrences in their IRL streams and called out men for leaving creepy comments or even direct messaging them expecting a reply. The discussion has even led to debate over how far women should use their bodies as an “advantage” while streaming. YouTuber and musician Project Nightfall decided to showcase just how bad the problem of harassment in IRL streams has become by clipping a few of these incidents into one video, resulting in a shocking compilation that has left thousands angry. In the video, he says “Too often do I see people normalize this…let’s come together to show the world that no women should ever go through this and no one should ever normalize the creeps.” A large segment of the compilation features streamer ImJasmine who is approached by a passerby while she is talking into the camera. She looks visibly uncomfortable and stands up to get away, but the man attempts to touch her inappropriately. She then walks away while he follows her, and eventually manages to escape him. In other following clips, a man whispers in a streamer’s ear, one streamer is grabbed by the shoulders, another is kissed by a stranger, and several others are followed, all making for extremely uncomfortable viewing. Since the video was posted to YouTube it’s been spread widely on Reddit, and people are understandably outraged. One Redditor wrote, “Damn, that made me so uncomfortable. I’m glad that’s never happened to me. I am so sorry for anyone this has happened to.” Another person added, “Dude Jasmine is such a f**king sweetheart she does not deserve any of this harassment and neither do any of these women.” The video was posted to r/publicfreakout on March 18 where it has more than 4,000 upvotes and rising, while a post with the video in the subreddit r/makemesuffer has soared past more than 8,000 upvotes as the outrage continues to rise.

YouTuber Etika detained by NYPD during Instagram Live broadcast – Dexerto
YouTuber Etika detained by NYPD during Instagram Live broadcast Image via EtikaArchiveNetworkYouTuber and Twitch streamer Daniel Desmond ‘Etika’ Amofah finds himself in hot water after ranting on Twitter about hating Jews, which led him being arrested and put into an ambulance all while streaming. Etika has been a master of controversy so far in 2019 and has drummed up some more after going on a rant that led to him getting dragged through the dirt by other Twitter users and even put into police custody. It started after he messaged many prominent YouTubers and personalities asking for verification on Twitter. Obviously, this isn’t something they would have control over and once they turned him down, Etika went on an explosive Twitter rant. Police showed up and arrested him It’s unclear how things escalated to the police arriving but during his Instagram Live broadcast, police entered his home and put him in handcuffs. We can see Etika being taken to an ambulance in handcuffs, indicating he might be heading there first, likely due to the way he was acting on Twitter and to the police. #Etika Part 2 of live stream! Comment your thoughts on this?? Does he need help  pic.twitter.com/7sTjCG5dUA — Nath :space_invader: (@decryptedn_yt) April 29, 2019 He told police he didn’t know why people want him hurt At one point during his rant, Etika posted a video of the NYPD, shortly before being detained, outside of his window as he explained people on the internet were trying to hurt him. He told them that he didn’t know why they wanted to hurt him but that he made porn and made a lot of money. What did Etika say? There’s a lot to dig into with these tweets but the one that really kicked things off was him tweeting about hating Jews. This anti-semetic tweet didn’t sit well with Twitter users as he was dragged by fans. Of course, this isn’t Etika’s first rodeo and he had a lot more to say in his long tirade. Etika kept it going by insulting the entire human race, religion and basically threatening to cleanse the population in full Thanos style. There’s a lot more to pick and choose from, but the lengthy rant has drawn the ire of plenty and has caused Etika to trend on Twitter all throughout the day on April 29. If you were unaware of who Etika was before all this, you might have a lot of catching up to do. Many of his followers on Twitter have become aware of his antics and have since become immune to what he has to say. Here’s just a look at some of the reactions from people on Twitter. How Etika looks typing onto twitter currently. pic.twitter.com/dTKF168nlw — KFAQ :pizza: (@fryflex) April 29, 2019 It’s hard to say why this rant is really going on but it looks like Twitter is definitely ready for it. Etika has a murky history Etika has become known for his reaction videos in the Super Smash Bros. community but has since strayed away from that into whatever it is that he has going on now. On April 16, Etika posted to Twitter suggesting he was going to kill himself which led to many of his fans becoming concerned about his health and well-being. Nothing came out of the incident and some fans even suggested he did all of this for attention. His history runs so deep that he even has his own KnowYourMeme entry. In 2018 the streamer was banned from Twitch after using a homophobic slur on his stream, according to Newsweek. It remains to be seen if any action will be taken against his Twitter account after this latest rant.

The post itself doesn’t detail the rationale behind it, nor does Twitch publicly reveal their reasoning for a ban. Though, viewers of Cooney’s channel have discerned that the streamer may have landed in hot water because of some lude behavior on stream. One commenter claimed: “She’s been flashing for weeks now. Twitch finally caught on after she flashed her breasts.” Fellow content creator @AshterialTtv corroborated this too: “I’m suspecting the ban is from her flashing her panties as it’s happened a lot recently.” ❌ Twitch Partner “eugeniacooney” (@eugenia_cooney) has been banned! ❌https://t.co/O17bM6bh5v#twitch #ban #firstban #partner #twitchpartner ✝ — StreamerBans (@StreamerBans) February 18, 2022 Cooney’s behavior warrants a long ban on Twitch in the eyes of some viewers, with one stating: “Needs to be a lot longer than 1 day, IMO. YouTuber Ethan Dolan slams “hateful” followers over acne comments – Dexerto
YouTuber Ethan Dolan slams “hateful” followers over acne comments YouTube: Dolan TwinsOne half of the Dolan Twins, Ethan Dolan, has slammed “sh*tty people” for criticising his appearance, with the Vine star-turned-YouTuber opening up candidly about his issues with acne. Ethan Dolan has been public about his struggles after the loss of his father in 2019, but this week, after the release of the documentary honoring his father’s legacy, the spotlight has been shone back on him. Fans have been criticizing the way the YouTuber has looked as of late, with a breakout of acne being visible in most photos uploaded to social media. After seeing the comments, Ethan Dolan went to set the record straight on February 27. He opened up about his skin, which he said was “out of [his] control,” and targeted bullies harassing him for his “bad luck.” “So many people deal with acne, I can just imagine the comments they get about their appearance daily,” he said. “We all know it’s never cool or okay to pick on someone for their appearance and what’s out of their control, but that’s not going to stop people from doing it. Sh*tty people will continue to be sh*tty.” However, the YouTuber reiterated to his followers — which total 8.3 million on Twitter and 9.2 million on Instagram — that acne and the way someone looks doesn’t define them as a person, and all that matters is “loving yourself.” “I do think the world is headed in a way better direction where people will take others feelings into consideration and be more supporting and accepting,” he said, “but until it’s fully there, it’s important to focus on loving yourself so hateful people’s words are meaningless. “If you’re struggling with your skin, no matter how severe your conditions may be, I encourage you to embrace it. “Talk yourself up, remind yourself of all of your great qualities and remember acne isn’t a bad quality. I know it’s easier said than done, honestly sometimes not even easily said, but just know you deserve to have confidence and you’re not alone in this.” https://www.instagram.com/p/B8sPbxaggI2/ His brother also stepped in, with Grayson tweeting that the hate is undeserved. “I’ve seen a fair amount of tweets calling my brother ‘ugly’ because of his current acne breakout,” he said. “Ethan isn’t one to let things like this bother him but this sh*t doesn’t sit right with me.” “Making fun or putting someone down because of a physical appearance that is out of their control is ugly.” I’ve seen a fair amount of tweets calling my brother “ugly” bc of his current acne breakout. Sean Dolan passed away in 2019, at the age of 50. He tweeted on February 26 about having “the most f**ked month” in his life, but he’s ready to leave all the hate behind and push forward for the rest of 2020.

YouTuber Emma Blackery explains erratic content in tearful vlog YouTube: Emma BlackeryYouTuber and musician Emma Blackery has explained why her content totally changed in the last two years and hit out at the music industry for “cruel” treatment in a tearful vlog. Emma Blackery is a long-time British YouTuber who first began posting on the platform in 2012, she has 1.4 million subscribers and has been associated with other musicians who first began on YouTube such as Dodie Clark. One of Emma’s most popular videos, which amassed almost 4 million views, revealed the truth behind YouTube rewind and how badly creators were treated during the filming of the 2017 version. In 2018, Emma’s career expanded outside of YouTube and into the music industry after she released her debut album ‘Villains’ which charted at No.24 in the UK. However, between then and now, fans noticed she gained weight and her content was sporadic and irregular. She said it took her so long to tell the story, because “for a long time I just felt a lot of shame over everything that happened. I felt as though I could have done more to stop all of it from happening to me. I felt like it was my fault.” In the video, Emma explained what happened and that there was an individual, who she doesn’t mention by name, that broke her trust and overspent a huge amount of her money during the promotion of her music. “It really hit home just how much money was being spent. I remember bursting into tears… because I finally allowed myself to see this individual who I’d allowed so much access to my business to my career. l had allowed this tour and this album to cost me money that was just absolutely absurd for the longest time after that I felt so much anger.” She went on to explain how the stress affected her content, adding “I began behaving a bit more erratically. I changed my image, my videos were all over the place…I couldn’t cope with it. I flipped. I deleted all my social media. I took every single app off my phone.” It also affected her on a personal level: “People have really loved to point out over the last year or so I gained a lot of weight… I gained over a stone. My skin broke out and I started to develop what I now know is a mild form of facial psoriasis.” However, while she’s doing better, Emma finished by saying that her content will still be different from what it was before: “In case you’re wondering I’m just making things that make me happy because at this time right now I just need to focus on my own happiness.”

The video ended up resulting in users across the internet debating MrBeast’s intentions, with some even calling it “demonic” and “charity p*rn.” Amid the discussion, YouTuber EmpLemon revealed that he actually had quite an interesting meeting with MrBeast when he contacted him to talk about content creation. EmpLemon shares personal story about MrBeast According to EmpLemon, after he posted a video about Leafy, MrBeast reached out to him on Twitter, explaining that he was a fan of his videos and wanted to talk about the creative process. “This was back when I had ~300K subs, and he had 3 Million,” EmpLemon added. The YouTuber explained that MrBeast actually asked him for advice and recalled that he was “anything but arrogant” during their discussion on Discord back in 2018. “Even as he was massively blowing up in the algorithm, he never once acted condescending or ‘above’ me. It was like talking to anyone else,” EmpLemon said. “I brought up the topic of money, and he seemed utterly indifferent towards the wealth/status he was accruing. He would change the subject back towards whatever videos he was planning. He was passionate about YouTube, and YouTube only. He wanted to be the best creator out there.” The documentary creator noted that he wasn’t sure what kind of person MrBeast is today. However, he had some very interesting words for those attacking Jimmy over his wealth and stats. “I always got the impression that he was simply using it as a means to an end,” he concluded. YouTuber EDP445 caught allegedly trying to meet with 13-year-old girl – Dexerto
YouTuber EDP445 caught allegedly trying to meet with 13-year-old girl Instagram: bigplayboy445YouTuber EDP445, who you might recognize as the ‘crazy Eagles guy’ from countless memes, has been caught allegedly trying to meet up with a 13-year-old girl, by a group who call themselves the Predator Poachers. EDP, real name Bryant Moreland, has over 2 million subscribers on YouTube, and has become the face of countless reaction memes online. If you’re a regular on Twitter, you’ve likely seen his face before. Now, though, a group on social media called the Predator Poachers have released a video that features EDP allegedly planning to meet up with a 13-year-old girl. With multiple screenshots, messages and videos of him at the scene, the group confronted EDP. On April 18, Predator Poachers uploaded several screenshots and videos to their Instagram page, exposing EDP’s messages to a girl he believed to be 13 — but it was actually them in disguise. After posting photos of EDP, as well as vulgar screenshots of the messages exchanged between himself and who he believed to be a young girl, Predator Poachers shared a video questioning EDP. “You did double text here, correct? Knowing she was 13?” they ask him, to which he simply says “Correct.” Then, to be plain as day, they ask “So you initiated a conversation with a 13-year-old knowing she was 13,” to which he confirms they are once again “correct.” View this post on Instagram Previous accusations against EDP This isn’t the first time EDP has found himself in similar situations. Back in October 2020, he was catfished by someone pretending to be a 17-year-old girl and sent them explicit messages, as well as threatening them if he found the messages online. In July 2020, just a few months prior, he addressed accusations that had come out against him regarding inappropriate conversations with an underage girl. He says in the video that he’s “not a pedophile” and the thought of it gives him “the heebie jeebies.” Of course, the repetitive nature of these accusations, and the fact that he admits on video with Predator Poachers that he had exchanged these messages with someone believed to be a minor, spells disaster for EDP. Should these reports be accurate, we expect legal action heading EDP’s way in the future.

YouTuber Dream’s new song “Roadtrip” sparks viral support from fans – Dexerto
YouTuber Dream’s new song “Roadtrip” sparks viral support from fans Instagram: dreamwastaken / YouTube: Dream / Unsplash.com: David Becker, @beckerworksWhen it comes to YouTubers, few have trended on Twitter as often and in such a short timeframe as ‘Dream,’ a popular Minecraft content creator whose new song is finding him on the top of social media stardom, yet again. ‘Dream’ is the name of a YouTube star who found incredible success throughout 2020. In just one year, the Minecraft-centric personality managed to gain a whopping 14 million subscribers — an unheard of growth spurt, outside of PewDiePie’s infamous battle with T-Series. Dream, much like fellow YouTuber Corpse Husband, has never shown his face to fans. Instead, the influencer uses a cartoonish avatar and eschews face cams in his videos, lending an aura of mystery around his content and online presence. This may be part of why he is so popular, with the YouTuber having topped Twitter’s trending page multiple times in the past few months as fans flock to the platform to show their support. Now, he’s trending on Twitter once again — this time after releasing his first original song alongside rapper and songwriter PmBata, titled “Roadtrip.” The song itself isn’t half-bad; the thought-provoking, catchy tune compares his memories to a 20-hour road trip in an “old van down the East Coast.” Much like Dixie D’Amelio’s “One Whole Day,” this is a song that will get stuck in your head, whether you want it to or not. Unsurprisingly, Dream’s fanbase quickly took their support to social media and flooded the site with the hashtag #THANKYOUDREAM, thanking the gaming-centric YouTuber for bravely stepping out into the music biz. “IS THIS FUCKING REAL?” one excited fan tweeted. “MY MINECRAFT YOUTUBER STREAMER RELEASING FIRE ASS MUSIC?? OH MY GOD IM A FUCKING DREAM STAN AND I PROUD.” https://twitter.com/thevlogwasajoke/status/1357403098424213509?s=20 “I’m so proud of him,” another said. “This took a lot of guts to put out, especially since it’s not his usual content, and I’m really happy to see that everyone loves it, including me. YouTuber Drew Gooden blasts Lilly Singh’s “terrible” late night show – Dexerto
YouTuber Drew Gooden blasts Lilly Singh’s “terrible” late night show Top YouTuber Lilly Singh, aka “Supawoman,” has made the jump from social media star to late night television host – but not everyone is impressed with her new show, one of whom is popular YouTuber Drew Gooden. Singh debuted her show “A Little Late with Lilly Singh” in September, marking one of the biggest jumps to mainstream media that the YouTube community has seen thus far. However, critics across the net are at odds with her role as a late night TV host, with some finding her jokes unfunny, and in Drew Gooden’s case, a veritable “trainwreck.” Gooden, a popular YouTube video-essayist with over 1.7 million subscribers, dissected Lilly’s new show in a video on November 29, where he criticized Singh for telling the same jokes about race and gender over and over again. “My standpoint is simply from a comedic angle – using the same joke over and over again shows a lack of creativity,” Gooden explained. “This is the same reason why a lot of people tend to not like Amy Schumer, because there’s very little variety in her material and it gets stale quickly.” While Gooden congratulated Singh on being the first woman of color to host her very own late night show, he isn’t alone in his sentiments: he evidenced a slew of YouTube comments with the same issue, and even went on to point out that editors seemed to cut in “fake laughter” after her jokes for added effect. “In addition to these problems with the audience, the show is overly scripted that it leaves no room for authenticity,” he continued. “The core of this show should be the celebrity interviews. It should be impossible to mess these up. And yet, they do.” Gooden isn’t the only major YouTuber taking issue with Singh’s show and “over used” jokes about race and gender, either – YouTube king Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg likewise Tweeted about the matter on the same day. “I’m so thankful whenever I’m reminded that NBC decided to put a bisexual woman of color as their host of a late late night show,” he wrote, adding a sarcastic smiley face. https://twitter.com/pewdiepie/status/1200516955817398272?s=20 While this wouldn’t be the first time Singh’s show has come under fire, the criticism follows a slew of other top YouTubers making their way out of the space, from KSI’s song breaking into the UK Top 10 and Logan Paul hoping for a career in professional fighting.

YouTuber Dream’s fans outraged after Addison Rae receives merch Instagram: addisonraeeSome fans of popular YouTuber Dream have been divided after he sent some of his merch over to TikTok star Addison Rae, with her comment section flooded with messages imploring her to “get away from Dream,” and citing her ‘problematic past’ as the cause of their discomfort. Several smaller creators have experienced an enormous boom in engagement this year. With people like Corpse Husband and Sykkuno becoming fan favorites and accumulating a large and dedicated fan base within a short space of time. Dream is one such creator. He became known primarily for his Minecraft content, but since joining the Among Us hype he has been competing with creators like Mr Beast, Corpse Husband, and PewDiePie, and as a result has picked up a wave of passionate fans. However, the fanbase was divided when Addison Rae revealed that Dream had sent her a selection of merch featuring his now iconic stick figure logo. This followed a tweet from Addison where she said ‘hey’ to the creators along with Corpse Husband and Quackity. Some fans quickly grew frustrated, and began flooding Addison Rae’s TikTok comments telling her to “get away from Dream.” Many cited Addison’s alleged problematic past as the reason for their discomfort, calling her “racist” and “homophobic.” https://twitter.com/C0RPS3C0R3/status/1335954164011184131 However, other fans highlighted their disappointment in certain parts of the community for the attacks on Addison. “Listen, I don’t like Addison Rae. Really,” one fan explained. “But sending her hate just because Dream sent her his merch is very unnecessary.” https://twitter.com/xcvsmix/status/1335875292095721473 Addison appeared to be referring to the backlash in a series of tweets on December 7. “Choose forgiveness,” she wrote. “No one is perfect. The meme lord’s Twitter profile was suddenly suspended without a clear reason, leaving fans in the dark as to why the YouTuber was randomly offline. 600However, Drama Alert’s KEEMSTAR speculated that the suspension was due to Twitter’s age restrictions, noting that Dark’s bio listed him as a “12-year-old music critic, Minecraft entrepreneur, hentai enthusiast, intelligent atheist and renowned archeologist” – an age limit that would fly in the face of Twitter’s 13-year-old cap. They got @DolanDark cus of his bio says he’s 12 :joyful::joyful::fire::fire:! He will be back soon Twitter actually loves Dolan. Working on it now! pic.twitter.com/URnxEyZ5q8 — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) September 6, 2019 While the bio hasn’t been directly confirmed as the exact reason for Dolan’s suspension, fans are calling for his profile to be restored, lashing out at Twitter in wake of the debacle. “Dolan Dark got suspended, F in the chat bois,” one user wrote of the scandal. “And a ‘fuck you’ to Twitter, please.” Dolan Dark got suspended, F in the chat bois And a “”fuck you”” to Twitter please pic.twitter.com/eM2suy20rO — ıʞɐuu∀/Persona 5 spoilers (@Annaki___) September 6, 2019 “Bring back Dolan Dark right fucking NOW,” another demanded. Dolan wouldn’t be the latest YouTuber to have suffered a suspension, either: the Twitter account of deceased social media star Desmond “Etika” Amofah was suspended a week prior, after his profile was hacked by an anonymous group that posted racist, homophobic, and offensive messages. The person who hacked Etika’s account is deleting the tweets I think. Here they are just in case they did. pic.twitter.com/oM7NvLMcdq — FusionAnimations (@FusionAnimation) August 24, 2019 That same group of hackers likewise hit such YouTube stars as James Charles and Shane Dawson, even attacking Twitter’s co-founder, Jack Dorsey – a hack that Twitter claims was brought about by a security “oversight” of his mobile provider. Dolan’s Twitter has yet to be restored at the time of writing, and the balance of the meme realm remains upended.

YouTuber Dream apologizes after “lynching” comment sparks backlash YouTube: DreamPopular Minecraft-turned-Among Us player ‘Dream’ has apologized to his viewers after a clip surfaced of the YouTuber making a comment about ‘lynching,’ which has been met with some criticism among fans. Dream is an ultra-popular face in the YouTube gaming scene, rising to prominence via his Minecraft playthroughs and, most recently, his Among Us videos with friends. However, Dream has recently become shrouded in controversy, after critics accused him of cheating in a Minecraft 1.16 speedrun — but that’s not the only incident stirring backlash against the internet star. A clip of Dream has now gone viral online, which shows the YouTuber commenting that players who cheat at Minecraft should be “lynched,” reportedly in reference to players who found loopholes in MCC’s ‘Ace Race’ during a stream with fellow content creator ‘CaptainSparklez.’ https://twitter.com/PINKFROSTT/status/1338189595226353671?s=20 A Twitter user posted the clip online on December 13, and explained in a lengthy thread why Dream’s use of the word “lynched” was hurtful. “I understand the lighthearted tone, but the word lynching is not the right one to use,” they wrote. “Ever. Especially when joking. This word carries a lot of weight in the Black community.” However, the user followed up by saying that they only intended to “hold him accountable” and clarified that they did not believe that Dream is racist, but merely uneducated. https://twitter.com/PINKFROSTT/status/1338189606706147329?s=20 Dream replied to the thread shortly thereafter, where he apologized for using the term and claimed that he’d been thinking of the popular game ‘Town of Salem,’ where lynching is an important element that occurs toward the title’s endgame. “Yeah, I realized after I said it that it wasn’t at all the right word for me to use, and I regretted it instantly,” he wrote. “I was thinking of the popular game ‘Town of Salem’ when I said it. Definitely not okay though, and I apologize for that. Out of my vocabulary.” Yeah I realized after I had said it that it wasn’t at all the right word for me to use and regretted it instantly. I was thinking of the popular game “town of salem” when I said it. Definitely not okay though, and I apologize for that. Out of my vocabulary. — dream (@dreamwastaken2) December 13, 2020 Thus far, it seems that Dream’s apology has been met with acceptance from fans and critics alike, who have thanked the YouTuber for admitting to his mistake and taking the term out of his diction — although the speedrunning drama continues to draw speculation.

YouTuber Dhar Mann surprises MrBeast fans with bizarre “MrFeast” parody – Dexerto
YouTuber Dhar Mann surprises MrBeast fans with bizarre “MrFeast” parody YouTube: Beast Reacts / Dhar MannYouTube short film producer Dhar Mann has created a parody version of MrBeast for his new video, dubbing his take on the hugely popular creator, “MrFeast,” much to fans’ amusement. Dhar Mann is a YouTuber with over 11 million subscribers, who makes short films that usually see the characters learn a meaningful lesson. He’s made plenty of content about the online world itself, including the invention of an influencer character called ‘Allison Day,’ who’s assumed to be a parody of popular TikTok star Addison Rae. He even shaded PewDiePie in one of his sketches about being a creator online, after the YouTuber commented on his content in one of his videos. The next influencer to make an appearance in one of Dhar’s videos is well-known YouTube philanthropist Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson — but not as we know him. Instead, Dhar has created a character called MrFeast, who gets kicked out of a store mid-video after the worker mistakes them for pranksters. MrFeast even has two of his friends with him, Fish and Handler, presumably inspired by Jimmy’s real-life friends Chris and Chandler. The group starts off the video by doing a game console giveaway in classic MrBeast style, before the manager kicks them out. But when the manager finds out from the owner that they were telling the truth about their occupation, he finds them and apologizes. MrFeast then buys their entire building so they don’t have to worry about paying rent anymore. It looks like Dhar has all good intentions though, as in the comments he wrote: “This video was just for fun! We have tremendous respect for MrBeast and love all the great philanthropical work he’s doing to help change lives.” He even asked MrBeast’s team to get in touch so they can donate the ad revenue from the video to the creator’s philanthropy fund. People seemed to be entertained overall by the video, even though some found the parody a little bizarre, with the video reaching over 4.5 million views within just one day.

YouTuber Dhar Mann responds to PewDiePie’s video about him – Dexerto
YouTuber Dhar Mann responds to PewDiePie’s video about him YouTube: PewDiePie / Dhar MannAfter Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg made a video reacting to one of Dhar Mann’s sketches, Dhar himself has made a new video about overcoming haters, using PewDiePie’s own comments as part of the script. Dhar Mann is a hugely popular content creator, who has over 10 million subscribers on YouTube, and millions more on other platforms like TikTok and Instagram in addition. His videos feature a team of actors that act out stories about people facing hardships, and often shows a negative person being taught a lesson, or changing their minds about an important topic. However, while his videos get millions of views, they continue to be criticized by many for ‘cringy’ acting and storylines. PewDiePie was one creator who decided to react to a video Dhar made with FaZe Rug about a shy kid that gets humiliated at school. It’s clear that Dhar wasn’t particularly happy with Felix’s comments, as he’s now uploaded a new sketch about his own actors receiving negative comments from people. After one of the actors gets called cringe to his face on the street Dhar comforts him by telling him that he gets his share of hate too. “I assume you know who PewDiePie is?” he says. “He pretty much just made a video blasting me, check this out.” Topic starts at 3:56 He then shows his phone to the camera, and plays several clips from different parts of PewDiePie’s video stitched together, where he says: “I already hate it. Dhar Mann Fam? It doesn’t make any sense. I didn’t think it would annoy me so much. ‘Keep changing lives,’ how? Dumb, I hate it.” Dhar then told the young actor he deals with hate by “focusing on the people that love me, not the ones that hate me.” The actor then goes on to go viral on YouTube with a video talking about online hate. At the time of writing the video has over 9 million views, but the comments are decidedly mixed. Some people appreciated the positive message, while others said that PewDiePie was only joking in his original video. Dhar has made videos about a range of topics relating to internet fame, with a video featuring an Addison Rae inspired ‘Allison Day’ going viral on TikTok.

YouTuber deletes channel after outrage over “call” with Kobe Bryant – Dexerto
YouTuber deletes channel after outrage over “call” with Kobe Bryant Jolto, YouTube / Keith Allison, Wikimedia CommonsNBA superstar and inspiration to many, Kobe Bryant, tragically passed away along with his daughter Gianna and seven other passengers in a helicopter crash on January 26 — but that isn’t stopping some YouTubers from capitalizing on the accident. While the world mourned the unexpected and shocking passing of the nine victims, YouTuber “Jolto” took things a step further, claiming to have “called” Bryant after his death and even claiming that the basketball legend was alive. In a video titled, “CALLING KOBE BRYANT AT 3 AM! *OMG HE ACTUALLY ANSWERED* (HES NOT DEAD),” Jolto faked a series of text messages with Bryant, the number of whom he’d allegedly procured from the “dark web.” According to the phony messages, Kobe “didn’t want anything to do with the mainstream media anymore” and was “looking for a way out.” That’s not all: the two even got on a fake “phone call,” where a disturbingly distorted voice called out, “Help me.” Read More: Why is Dua Lipa being “canceled” on Twitter? – Needless to say, Jolto’s video incited criticism across social media, with many accusing the YouTuber of using Bryant’s death as a means to score views. “Nah I feel he deserves every ounce of criticism,” one user wrote. “Fair enough if he made a joke on the whim offline, but he physically went through the process to upload this to a website.” “…I prayed that this wasn’t going to happen but of course it did,” another commented. “He constantly says ‘I feel so bad,’ and s**t like that, but then continues to disrespect to Kobe and his family.” Still others compared him to the ongoing scandal surrounding fellow YouTuber “Jaystation,” who is similarly coming under fire for seemingly faking the death of his girlfriend and even conversing with her via Ouija Board. Since then, Jolto’s YouTube channel has been deleted, with the offensive video being re-uploaded on separate channels across the site. While Jolto’s video was certainly offensive, YouTube commentator “WillNE” urged viewers not to “witch hunt” the young creator, calling his upload a “dumb mistake” — one that will hopefully teach him a valuable lesson for future videos.

YouTuber detained after visiting school to gift new shoes to bullied kid – Dexerto
YouTuber detained after visiting school to gift new shoes to bullied kid Instagram: @prettyboyfredo / PixabayYouTube personality Alfredo ‘Prettyboyfredo’ Villa was detained by police after he decided to show up at a school and gift a bullied kid some new shoes. Prettyboyfredo is a popular YouTuber with over 6.38 million subscribers on his main channel. He became popular through NBA gameplay videos, but has also dabbled in challenges, pranks, and vlogs. On February 17, the online star revealed that he’d visited a high school at an attempt to gift a bullied boy a new pair of shoes – Nike MAGs, to be exact – but the attempt fell flat as he ended up being escorted off the premises by police. Prettyboyfredo detained by police In a series of videos shared to Instagram, the YouTuber was shown being handcuffed by police and escorted out of the school to many cheers and shouts from students who were stunned by what was taking place. His removal from the premises was because he hadn’t let anyone know beforehand that he was planning on dropping by, so his surprise visit was classed as trespassing by security. Fredo had tried to enter the school to gift a pair of Nike MAGs to a kid named Jay who was being bullied by his peers. The shoes are highly coveted because they’re a replica of the ones worn in Back to the Future Part II, and cost anywhere from $30,000 to $70,000 – though he scored them for $15,000. https://www.instagram.com/p/B8j3vX6laeW/?utm_source=ig_embed According to Complex, Fredo mentors Jay, who had been bullied over his size and clothes, so he wanted to do something nice for him to make him feel better. “As a kid, I grew up in very tough circumstances, from being in foster care to being bullied myself. So I know what it feels like to practically have nothing,” he said. “I could relate to his pain from my past experience, and I knew giving him something special like the Mags would give him the confidence to push forward and through the bullying.” Thankfully, the YouTuber was able to finally gift the sneakers to the boy, as detailed in another Instagram upload. “It broke my heart to know how bad he was suffering from depression and how he didn’t even want to go to school anymore because of the bullying,” the caption read. He finished off by detailing how he hoped the gift would give Jay a confidence boost. “I hope that this gives you the confidence you need in order to push through! You a real one Jay! And I can’t wait to see you blossom from this.” https://www.instagram.com/p/B8rbxt7Fqt5/?utm_source=ig_embed MAGs got a limited release back in 2011 with only 1,500 available worldwide, and again in 2016 where only 89 were made – though they were self-lacing that time. Since the shoes are so rare, it’s clear just how lucky Jay is to have a mentor who would gift him such a luxury and coveted item just in the hopes that it’d put a smile on his face.

YouTuber Deji ordered to have dog put down after losing court battle Popular YouTuber Deji Olatunji has been ordered to put his German Shepherd dog down after it caused “very nasty injuries” to an elderly woman who was collecting a parcel from his front porch. UPDATE – Dec 17 at 2:42 PM In a new YouTube video, Deji says he plans to appeal the ruling to save Tank’s life. During the video, he claimed that he needed the help of his viewers and family to spread the message. “Together we can save Tank,” he said and insisted that everyone who has ever met the dog has loved him. Original story below: The BBC reports that a court heard that an assessment of the animal found he “didn’t come across as a friendly and sociable dog.” Candy D’Sa, who assessed the dog (named Tank), said that while most dogs accept a muzzle, he “was very frightened with the attempts to muzzle him” and she did not feel comfortable taking him off a leash. Not only was the dog ordered to be put down, but Olatunji was fined £2,500 (about $3,280 USD) and his mother was forced to pay the victim £8,000 (around $10,500 USD) after the two admitted to “dangerous dog offenses.” Judge David Farrell QC said that the dog bit Deji’s elderly neighbor twice and caused “very nasty injuries.” Additionally, Prosecutor Charles Falk stated that this happened after Deji’s mother “caused the dog to be let out” of their house. After the first bite, Olatunji tried to get the dog under control. During the skirmish, Tank bit another individual before he was finally restrained. Luckily, the other person suffered no injuries when they were bitten. https://www.instagram.com/p/BYiv3a8nKaW/ In addition to the compensation and fine, Deji’s mother was also given a 12-month community order and sentenced to 80 hours of unpaid work. Def Noodles is a YouTuber with over 400 thousand subscribers, known for his satirical commentary videos where he picks apart influencer drama. His videos typically feature controversial influencers, such as the likes of Jake Paul, Tana Mongeau, and Trisha Paytas, and are well received by his loyal audience. However, on August 8, he was forced to address the comments he had been receiving from fans wondering why his videos had been increasing in their level of censorship. He explained that YouTube reviewers had been going through his videos “one by one and demonetizing them.” Additionally, he stressed that he is a “free speech advocate” and hates “having to censor his videos so much.” https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1291874702168793090 His followers were shocked when he revealed a few of the reasons YouTube reviewers had demonetized his videos. In one instance, the featuring of the word “mormon” in a thumbnail was listed as “hateful/inappropriate language.” In another, mentioning the word “prank” was deemed to be discussing “harmful/dangerous acts done by untrained professionals.” Viewers speak out Fans were outraged, saying “YouTube is so out of control.” Others suggest that YouTube is targeting drama and commentary channels specifically, as they’ve seen that “many of the ‘genre’ are suffering the same thing.” This is absolutely outrageous!!!! YOU CANT SAY PRANK?!!? YouTube is so out of control. I wish creators had somewhere else to go where we could all easily follow & you could make your videos how you used to. I completely understand the censoring-I’m not sure why ppl complain?— danielle?✂️? (@dazzaDS) August 8, 2020 OMG this sucks! And it seems very targeted from YouTube to drama/commentary channels because I’ve seen many of the “genre” are suffering the same thing — Monica Faour (@MonicaFaour) August 8, 2020 In the past few years, YouTube have upped their monetization regulations, receiving a huge amount of criticism from content creators on the site, who often depend on the income from AdSense at least partly to fund their livelihood. Ultimately, these regulations have left Def Noodles with a 0% self-certification trust rating, meaning YouTube could suspend him from the partner program and prevent him from earning any money at all. Despite the vast level of criticism from creators and audiences over the years, YouTube has not relented in their brutal takedown of monetized content. It seems they won’t be slowing down any time soon.

YouTuber David Dobrik takes shots at Logan Paul during lie detector test – Dexerto
YouTuber David Dobrik takes shots at Logan Paul during lie detector test Popular YouTuber David Dobrik was hysterically forced to take shots at Logan Paul during a lie detector test with Vanity Fair. Dobrik’s interview spanned topics including the his successful career as a YouTuber, personal life, his small weed smoking habit, and his opinions on content creators. In his interview, Dobrik was asked if he believed there were any YouTubers in the scene who were sellouts, to which Dobrik confidently replied with a “yes.” He was then asked to name one such YouTuber, to which he answered by naming Zane Hijazi. But it didn’t look like he anticipated what was going to happen next. Dobrik was then immediately shown a picture of Paul, and was asked if he thought that Paul was a sellout. The YouTuber couldn’t contain his smile, as he expanded on his answer. (Timestamp at 11:44 for mobile viewers) “Yes,” Dobrik replied with some chuckles. “Major sellout. The biggest.” Dobrik was struggling to keep a straight face throughout the majority of the interview, and this line of questions had him hilariously breaking his cool demeanor. Then the interviewer wanted to dig a little deeper when he asked Dobrik to describe Paul with a single word. Dobrik gave a charming response in by saying: “You said it perfectly. Sellout.” Dobrik found himself in a funny bind however, since the interviewer indicated that he asked for a single word as opposed to “sell out.’ Dobrik laughed off the interviewer’s question by saying he was “pretty high,” and the interview carried on. Though the two online personalities have had a feud in the past, and it seemed like Dobrik wasn’t too keen on going down that rabbit hole again.

YouTuber Danny Duncan finally blows up his long-suffering Tesla – Dexerto
YouTuber Danny Duncan finally blows up his long-suffering Tesla YouTube: Danny DuncanYouTuber Danny Duncan has put his Tesla Model 3 through hell since buying it, and has finally done the best thing for it by blowing it up completely. Danny Duncan’s wacky style of content is definitely divisive. Fans love that they never know what to expect from him, while his critics might question some of the decisions he’s made, such as destroying his house with an indoor baseball pitching machine. One regular victim of Danny’s, though, is his Tesla, which has definitely seen better days. Since buying it, he’s ripped the roof off, had people crash into it, broken the windows and done just about everything imaginable. To contrast, on his other Tesla, he’s lovingly applied a pair of bull horns to the front. While some may consider a Tesla a dream car, it seems Danny doesn’t quite have the same affinity for his. After hitting it with golf balls and punching off the wing mirror, Danny finally decided it was time to blow the whole thing up in his January 27 upload. Using Tannerite, a brand of binary explosive targets, Duncan started taking shots at his Tesla from afar, even injuring himself in the process. Despite the cut to his head, Danny managed to hit his target and watched his Tesla blow up with lightning speed, right before his eyes. The car was almost fully flipped over, blowing the doors and trunk in, leaving it literally looking like a shell of its former self. Danny wasn’t impressed, though, moaning that “it didn’t do sh*t” because he “thought the b**ch was going to go in the air.” Topic starts at 4:39 While most stunts are done with a “Don’t try this at home” tag applied, in true Danny Duncan fashion he actually advises fans do try it at home. Though for many of us, finding a Tesla to blow up is far easier said than done. Needless to say, Duncan makes a decent amount of money and this probably isn’t much of a loss to him — in fact, his BMW i8 is probably scared stiff right now.

YouTuber Danny Gonzalez exposes “disturbing” TwinTok trend on TikTok YouTube: Danny Gonzalez / TikTok: alisovbrothersPopular YouTuber Danny Gonzalez hit out at a new trend sweeping TikTok involving twin siblings. The former Vine star explained why one “TwinTok” channel in particular is one of the “weirdest” things he’s ever seen. In 2021, TikTok has become the birthplace of some of the internet’s most popular trends. From the recently viral Hot Sauce Dance to the flurry of Squid Game memes, the website has had a busy year. The popular app has also been known to create some pretty strange trends as well from time to time. According to YouTuber Danny Gonzalez, a new “TwinTok” channel blowing up is one the most bizarre to date. Danny Gonzalez calls out Twin Tik-Tok trend According to the 27-year-old, there is a trend taking off on TikTok that has twin siblings stumbling into romantic situations together – yes, you read that right. In his recent upload, the YouTuber called out one of the popular channels that has been wracking up millions of views making content like this. “It’s something so strange I truly can’t wrap my head around it. It’s two twins on TikTok. But these twins are different. Because these twins are in love… With each other,” he said. “The siblings dating trend is truly one of the weirdest things I’ve seen on TikTok in a while. The more I look into it, the more puzzling it gets.” Gonzalez showed clips from the channel ‘alisovbrothers’ which has over 2.5 million followers. “The vast majority of their content is them about to make out with each other,” he continued. “But this is like their thing. They have so many TikToks where they have music playing and then at the end they kind of just grab each other’s faces and just breathe into each other’s faces.” Despite the criticism, he theorized that the two creators were just trying to shock viewers. “Clearly whatever is going on here is just for shock value to get views on TikTok,” he explained. “I’m gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that whatever this is, is not like a real romantic relationship. It’s just these two brothers who thought “Hey, if we do this, like, weird s**t, we can get really famous on TikTok.” However, Gonzalez stumbled upon a possible twist when several commenters claimed the “siblings” aren’t actually related. “WHAT?! Are these guys not twins? I’ve spent the past three days watching these guys’ videos. Are they not actually twins?” He then sent the TikTok creators an email trying to find out. Read More: Hasan claims he’s close to quitting Twitch – While they didn’t respond, Danny Gonzalez concluded that they were actually twins after doing research. Regardless, the former Vine star hit out at the trend and said it was weird. “Is it really worth it, just for views?” he asked.

Fellow influencer SunhatKid is a familiar face in these videos, who often hangs out with Duncan and crew and can be seen wearing his classic sun hat. Former employee accuses YouTuber Danny Duncan of physical abuse SunhatKid has answered these questions in a December 1 video, claiming he parted ways with the YouTuber due several alleged instances of physical abuse. In his video, SunhatKid claims Duncan made him unfollow all the influencers he was friends with on social media after purportedly asking him to sign a ten-year contract, which prevented him collaborating with other creators and took an alleged 20% of his earnings. SunhatKid then elaborated upon multiple occurrences of purported abuse from Duncan, claiming the YouTuber had repeatedly hit him in the head during a friendly wrestling session, causing him to bleed and giving him a “big lump.” SunhatKid, who’d been a team member of Duncan’s, then shared text messages he’d sent, which claimed that Duncan had allegedly kicked him in the head after failing at a skateboarding trick. The former employee then claimed that Duncan had cornered him in a bathroom and placed a knife at his throat, saying he was “scared for my life.” “I thought there was a chance he was gonna stab me, and I was scared,” he said, noting Duncan had not stabbed him with the weapon. SunhatKid claimed that, during the aforementioned instances, “no one cared” about the alleged abuse that happened, often in front of others. He claimed Duncan didn’t care about him unless he were being hit or acting like “a clown.” “There were a lot of nice things that Danny did for me that made me strong and I took a lot of advice from, but there were also a lot of things that weakened me and made me feel so… I almost hated myself. I felt so lost and alone.” Duncan has yet to respond to these allegations at the time of writing.

However, it did not go down well with fans as one viral tweet read, “Colleen Ballinger really thought singing ‘I’m not a groomer I’m just a loser’ was a cute way to respond to the very SERIOUS allegations that’ve been levied against her and…it’s beyond sick.” Shortly after, the YouTuber’s video from 5 years ago went viral where she was dancing to Beyonce’s Single Ladies in what some claimed was blackface. The video is still on her YouTube page that she created for her character, Miranda Sings.

YouTuber Daithi De Nogla explains reason for his surprise surgery – Dexerto
YouTuber Daithi De Nogla explains reason for his surprise surgery Daithi De Nogla, YouTubeIrish YouTube star Daithi De Nogla shocked his fans after uploading a one-minute video in a hospital bed — and now, he’s finally explained the disturbing video after a two-week period. Nogla is a popular face on YouTube, best known for his humorous gaming videos and expressive thumbnails. Boasting over 6.8 million subscribers, Nogla is one of YouTube’s rising video game stars — but his community was shocked to learn that he’d undergone a surprise surgery, as told in his one-minute video on the subject on February 3. Day 14 of recovery, the world seems so bleak to me. I haven’t seen sunlight and wonder does it still exist. The darkness is like my heart. Empty and full of angst. pic.twitter.com/tH7qyPHaM9 — Nogla (@DaithiDeNogla) February 18, 2020 Wearing an oxygen mask and clearly coming out of deep anesthesia, Nogla humorously greeted his audience with a groggy, “What’s up, gamers?” and explained that his operation “went pretty good.” While viewers were relieved to find out the process had been successful, they were left with precious little to go on, until Nogla explained the situation nearly two weeks later. In an unexpected turn of events, the YouTuber clarified that he’d had to undergo surgery on his testicles, which he laughingly claimed had filled with fluid over a period of time. The procedure, called a “hydrocelectomy,” repairs this buildup of fluid, which can resolve itself over time or become exacerbated due to swelling and pain. “I would say, do not Google or YouTube this,” Nogla joked. “It’s the most horrible thing you’ll ever see, especially if you’re a man, because the surgery was on my balls! That’s right. I got surgery on my balls.” He went on to explain that the surgery had been complicated by an infection, and that he’d been under anesthesia for an hour longer than originally anticipated, ultimately deciding to go to the doctor after experiencing searing pain in his nether regions. “I woke up one morning with about a 9 out of 10 pain in my balls,” he continued. “It was pretty extreme. Especially my left side. I was very scared of doctors and dentists and everything back then. I have a touch of that still, but nowhere near as bad as it was back then.” Thankfully, Nogla and his ‘nogles’ are fully intact, and fans can rest easy knowing their favorite YouTuber is back to 100% health.

YouTuber Cole Carrigan held at gunpoint in Uber [VIDEO] – Dexerto
YouTuber Cole Carrigan held at gunpoint in Uber [VIDEO] Eden the Doll, YouTube / FreepikWith the advent of Uber, more and more users are looking to increase their safety options, following a string of horror stories surrounding the service – one of which happened to popular beauty YouTuber Cole Carrigan, leaving him shell shocked. Carrigan uploaded a joint video with fellow YouTuber Eden the Doll on June 11, where the pair recounted their terrifying trip in a nighttime Uber. According to the duo, they decided to hit up their favorite taco truck to end their night out when they were approached by a group of belligerent bystanders – an odd occurrence to Carrigan, who claimed that the area was generally well-to-do. 600https://www.instagram.com/p/ByBLu4Tp-Zf/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_linkCarrigan and Eden then hopped back in their Uber while the bystanders continued to harass them, with one of the strangers asking Carrigan to roll down his window while yelling homophobic slurs. Eventually, another member of the group pulled out a gun and fired a shot at the vehicle, shattering the driver’s side window. Footage from the incident shows Carrigan asking if he should call law enforcement to the scene, with his Uber driver asking them to “please” refrain from involving the police and saying that he “didn’t want to go to prison. Carrigan later revealed that the driver was also packing heat, which they claimed scared the bystanders off – a fact that Carrigan was immensely grateful for. Eden felt that the two were targeted for their sexual identities, with the two having just left a Pride event at the time of the incident. 600https://www.instagram.com/p/BxdEK_LFL9b/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link“We were literally held at fucking gunpoint,” Carrigan recalled. “That’s why we had to sit down and share our story. If we didn’t – I cannot let something like this just be swept under the rug.” This wouldn’t be the first time Carrigan has been allegedly targeted for his sexuality, either; the YouTuber uploaded an Instagram story in early May accusing social media star Cameron Dallas of attacking him in his own home due to his status as a gay man, claiming that Dallas had thrown water on him during a house party. so last night at a party i was outside talking to people minding my own business when @camerondallas decides to comes up to me and throw his water bottle all over me for absolutely no reason other than being a homophobic drunk asshole. i won’t tolerate that shit. pic.twitter.com/SXNNwgCajM — cole (@ColeCarrigann) May 5, 2019 Carrigan lives in Jake Paul’s Team 10 mansion, along with several other YouTubers, editors, and producers.

YouTuber Cole Carrigan claims he was “bullied” out of Team 10 – Dexerto
YouTuber Cole Carrigan claims he was “bullied” out of Team 10 Cole Carrigan, Jake ‘n Logan – YouTubeYouTube star Jake Paul’s Team 10 talent organization is no stranger to scandal, having been the subject of ample controversy throughout its lifetime – and now, the group is getting exposed once more, following the discharge of former member and popular makeup artist Cole Carrigan. Carrigan was booted from the org in early July, after tensions grew between the YouTuber and other members of the team, with star Jake Paul claiming that Carrigan had become “lazy” and comparing him to ex-girlfriend Alissa Violet. “He wasn’t posting videos or filming any videos because he’s lazy,” Jake claimed during a joint video with his older brother, Logan Paul. “…they go on social media to try to fucking come at my name when I have proven time and time again… that I am a good person.” (Timestamp: 0:35 for mobile viewers) However, Carrigan’s side of the story was dramatically different, which he uploaded in a somber video on July 21. According to Carrigan, he’d been the subject of constant abuse from other members of Team 10, with event organizer “Armani” verbally abusing him during an altercation after a night at the club – an outing that Carrigan had been prevented from participating in by Armani, himself. Popular YouTuber and makeup artist Cole Carrigan had a slew of receipts when discussing his expulsion from Team 10 – many of which included frightening instances of bullying and even homophobia.600https://www.instagram.com/p/B0MWP3cpv5s/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link A voice recording of the incident shows Armani verbally thrashing Carrigan, claiming that he would call the police if the YouTuber didn’t step off his property, with Carrigan later claiming that Armani called him a homophobic slur and “every name in the book.” “Meanwhile, he’s in my ear, calling me a f****t, saying all I do is paint my face, calling me a piece of shit, saying I’m trash, dirt, lazy, unproductive, selfish, egotistical,” Carrigan listed. “…to the point where I am bawling my eyes out.” (Timestamp: 10:27 for mobile viewers) Carrigan also claimed that Team 10 manager Adam Quinn had even hired hackers to infiltrate his Instagram account in an act of revenge, changing his username to “byebye12346677.” The YouTuber likewise mentioned several instances of dysfunction throughout the organization, including an instance where he was booted from the Team after only receiving two strikes in spite of their alleged three strike system. Carrigan included screenshots of text conversations with Team 10 members in his video exposing the organization for “bullying” him.400 While there’s a lot to unpack in Carrigan’s video, it wouldn’t be the first time Team 10 members have been met with accusations of homophobia: in fact, one of Jake Paul’s editors came under fire in early July after kicking two transgender women out of a house party – a scandal that was backed up by video proof. Team 10 has yet to respond to Carrigan’s latest video on the matter.

YouTuber Colby Brock opens up to Dr Mike about cancer diagnosis – Dexerto
YouTuber Colby Brock opens up to Dr Mike about cancer diagnosis Instagram: Colby BrockYouTuber and ghost hunter Colby Brock has recently gotten the devastating news that he had testicular cancer. He recently opened up to Dr Mike about his experience getting the news as he starts chemotherapy. Colby Brock, 26, is best known for his ghost-hunting videos that he makes alongside best friend and business partner Sam Goldbach, with the pair having over 9 million subscribers on their shared ghost-hunting channel. This year, Colby has gone through something scarier than any ghosts though, as he was diagnosed with testicular cancer in January. He appeared on Dr Mike Varshavski‘s podcast “The Checkup” where he talked about his experience with getting the diagnosis and how he was let down by his doctors. Colby opened up about how he got diagnosed Telling Dr Mike about how he started to experience a “bruise like pain” in his nether region back in November 2022 while filming a video, he said the pain and swelling kept getting worse, making him finally contact his doctor in January 2023. Talking about what made him call his doctor, he said: “At this point when it would flair up it was swollen, and there was a pain that was now starting in my lower left pelvis, by my waistband. And there was like this throbbing pain, almost like a cramping pain when I would sit down.” Colby also said that after each flair-up, the swelling would go down, but the testicle remained larger and firmer. He had a doctors appointment on January 25, where the doctor told him to go see a radiologist to do ultrasounds and scans within the next month. He went on to go get them done the next day and soon got the worst news possible – there was a mass that had a 95% risk of it being cancer. Taking matters into his own hands, instead of waiting months for the surgery in Las Vegas where he currently lives, he contacted doctors at UCLA that went on to schedule the surgery to remove the testicle on February 6th – just 12 days after his first doctor’s appointment. Colby is now undergoing chemotherapy The surgery was deemed a success and Colby was soon described as being cancer free. But unfortunately, the journey doesn’t end there. Even though he was deemed cancer free, the doctors said there was still a 35% risk of the cancer returning. Because of this, Colby had a choice of active surveillance of 2 years where he would regularly get blood works and scans to make sure the cancer didn’t return, or he could do one round of chemo which would last 21 days. Colby then went on to ask Dr Mike about his views on whether or not he should go through chemotherapy. He said he knew it would decrease the risk of the cancer coming back, but he was also scared of the side effects, mainly infertility and losing his hair, which is an important part of his job. Since filming the interview, Colby has announced to his fans that he started the round of chemo on April 24, after posting photos of himself in the treatment room at the hospital. He kept the caption of the positive, saying he was ready to do what it takes to “kick cancer’s ass”. He ended the caption by writing: “imma put the emo in chemo bitch #fuckcancer” For all the latest entertainment news and updates, be sure to check out Dexerto’s full coverage here.

YouTuber Coffeezilla claims Floyd Mayweather is deleting evidence of failed NFT projects – Dexerto
YouTuber Coffeezilla claims Floyd Mayweather is deleting evidence of failed NFT projects YouTube star Coffeezilla has accused undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather of “scamming” people through NFTs and covering up the evidence. NFTs have divided the internet. Some people are passionate about the new possibilities of its promise, while others aren’t as enthusiastic. Celebrities, content creators, and influencers looking to cash in on their names have attached themselves to tokens and the like, both aware and unaware of the potential scams that may be taking place. In promoting NFTs, some of these public figures have made thousands and even millions of dollars in the process. One celebrity promoting them is undefeated boxer, Floyd Mayweather. He has been a part of the NFT craze since the blockchain fad emerged at the forefront of mainstream America. He was so invested in the movement that he even created an NFT in his image called the “FloydNFT.” The champ was supposedly paid $4,907,407 for a promotion in 2021. What is happening with Mayweather’s NFTs? Mayweather has allegedly been scrubbing the internet clean of any videos showing him advertising NFTs and NFT giveaways – even as he begins advertising his latest project, “the Mayweverse.” And it’s because of this that YouTuber Coffeezilla accused Mayweather of “scamming” his fans. He is known for calling out YouTubers and what he claims is their “fraudulent” behavior within the realm of NFTs. Setting his sights on Mayweather, he took to Twitter to air out his grievances. Coffeezilla Calls Mayweather out for deleting posts promoting NFTs The YouTuber let people know that Mayweather’s last what-he-calls “scam” had made over $4,000,000, as he quote tweeted one of his tweets. He realized that Floyd had since deleted the tweet he had previously quoted. But in a plot twist of sorts, he revealed his trump card, tweeting, “too bad I archived them.” Floyd Mayweather is frantically deleting evidence of his last NFT scam.😂He’s getting roasted by the investors. https://t.co/HXUzCWi6sW pic.twitter.com/AQ92nxIhtz — Coffeezilla🇺🇦 (@coffeebreak_YT) March 22, 2022 Providing insight into the multiple NFTs Floyd had promoted and then seemingly deleted, Coffeezilla went through the tokens and other projects to which the boxer had attached his name. Then, Coffee took it a step further and even included comments from investors who were furious at how quickly he ditched his previous Floyd NFTs and was already working on a new one. The YouTuber has yet to upload a video accusing Mayweather of scamming, so this is probably not the last time we hear from this story.

YouTuber claims MrBeast was not paid for extravagant airline video – Dexerto
YouTuber claims MrBeast was not paid for extravagant airline video YouTube: FLAGRANT, MrBeastA YouTuber is claiming that internet superstar MrBeast was not sponsored by airlines in a $500,000 video, but instead encountered major difficulties and ended up paying out of pocket for the project. Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is one of the internet’s most famous figures. The YouTuber, who currently reigns as the site’s most-subscribed creator, has become a social media icon for his wildly extravagant videos and charitable projects. From his big-budget recreation of Netflix’s hit series Squid Game to his super-viral video paying for 1,000 people’s cataract surgeries, MrBeast is nothing short of a household name on the internet. However, despite his good deeds and high-value entertainment, the influencer has come under fire in the past due to his wealth. He notably received a swath of backlash after he published his cataract surgery video, with some critics accusing him of profiting from disadvantaged people. More recently, the YouTuber came under scrutiny after publishing a video comparing a $1 plane ticket vs a $500,000 ticket. Some users suggested that he may have been paid to promote the more expensive airlines… but another content creator is hitting back at those claims. YouTuber hits back at claims MrBeast was paid for extravagant airplane video YouTuber Nonstop Dan says that he worked with MrBeast to make his plane ticket experiment come to life, and claims that Donaldson was not paid by any of the airlines involved to promote their companies. In fact, Nonstop Dan says that MrBeast actually encountered major difficulties in securing filming rights on the planes, and ended up paying for the whole project out of his own pocket. “You might be surprised that, not only did he pay full price for all his tickets — sometimes buying out the whole first class cabin for tens of thousands of dollars — but the airlines didn’t even want him onboard,” he claimed. “His team had a huge battle to even be allowed to record. Point is, the airlines made literally hundreds of thousands of dollars and got over 100 million views of free promo, all while giving MrBeast a hard time.” This isn’t the first time MrBeast has spoken about losing a huge chunk of change on his videos; in fact, the YouTuber claims he doesn’t even care how much money he makes from the platform, saying he only “likes money because I can hire more people and grow my business, but not so like I can increase my lifestyle.”

YouTuber Coffeezilla accuses Adin Ross of lying about crypto “scam” – Dexerto
YouTuber Coffeezilla accuses Adin Ross of lying about crypto “scam” YouTuber and crypto investigator ‘Coffeezilla’ claims that content creator Adin Ross lied about a previous accusation of “scamming” his fans while promoting a cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency has become increasingly popular over the past 12 months, with content creators making upwards of hundreds of thousands per sponsor for simply promoting crypto coins and tokens on social media. One content creator that was paid to promote crypto was Adin Ross, who, on May 26, was supposedly paid $200,000 to promote a specific token named ‘MILF token.’ Ross promoted the token to over 75,000 viewers that were watching him live on Twitch at the time. Just a few weeks after promoting the token on stream, speculation of a pump and dump scam began to rise, with Adin responding saying “that MILF token sh*t I did a while back, I already told you guys to not buy that sh*t. I got paid a bag to do that sh*t. Like I don’t give a f**k, I hope none of you guys actually bought it,”. Fans of the content creator started to believe that Adin scammed them, pump and dumping the token he was paid to promote. Shortly after, content creators Hasan and H3H3 called out Adin, which lead to him being invited to a call where they confronted him. During the call, he attempted to clear his name, saying “It wasn’t a pump and dump, I just want to say real quick, they wish they never did this with me,”. During the call, Adin also shows a clip from the original live stream where the promotion took place, where he said “I’m not a financial adviser, I’m literally getting paid, I’m getting paid for this sh*t, to be honest with you guys.” Coffeezilla claims Adin Ross lied about crypto token While we thought all of this had been swept under the rug, cryptocurrency investigator Coffezilla has brought the situation back into the light with a 12-minute video posted on August 2. In the video, Coffezilla goes into immense detail on how Adin Ross may have not been involved directly with the pump and dump, but he certainly lied and contributed in some way. Coffeezilla slams Adin Ross in the video for his only defense is that the promotion was a “really bad promo” and “the price went down so it wasn’t a scam.” While it’s technically true that the price of the token went down after the promotion, Adin ignores that pump and dump scams rely on the volume and not the price. Part 4 (the lie): This is technically true, price went down. But by focusing on price, Adin Ross ignores that scams rely on VOLUME, not price. And when you compare the volume of trading the day of Adin’s promotion, the effect is HUGE. pic.twitter.com/17SbNNWahF — Coffeezilla (@coffeebreak_YT) August 2, 2021 During the day of the promotion, the token saw $15m more in trading volume than previous days. Fans of the content creator began buying and those who had a large amount of the token selling. While Adin may have not been the one pump and dumping, he was still paid $200,000 to promote the token. A very small amount of money compared to the total $19m of MILF token that was traded that day. It’s worth noting that Adin Ross wasn’t the only content creator that was paid to promote the token. Jake Paul and Frazier Kay also promoted the token across social media around the same time as Adin.

YouTuber claims fans were banned from Creator Clash over fear of being Sam Hyde in disguise – Dexerto
YouTuber claims fans were banned from Creator Clash over fear of being Sam Hyde in disguise JetneptuneA group dressed as Garfield has claimed they were denied entry to the Creator Clash 2 event over the fear of one of them being comedian Sam Hyde in disguise. Sam Hyde and iDubbbz‘s feud has long been in the making. It all started when iDubbbz reached out wanting to film with Sam, where the internet comedian presumed YouTuber was planning to make his notorious ‘content cop’ — where iDubbbz instead got trolled in the process. Their feud then escalated as iDubbbz refused to allow Sam to attend the first Creator Clash for “personal reasons” — costing ‘The Candy Man’ $11,500 after already purchasing five front-row seats. Since, the two have had a fairly rocky relationship, with Sam even firing shots at iDubbbz’s wife. Furthermore, earlier this year, FroggyFresh was expected to make his boxing debut at Creator Clash 2. However, he was removed from the event for his “recent behavior” — although many have speculated it was due to training with Sam Hyde. With Creator Clash finally making its return and Sam Hyde planning to sneak into the event dressed in drag, a group has claimed they were denied from entering the venue over fear that one of them was the comedian in disguise. YouTuber claims fans were banned from Creator Clash 2 According to YouTuber Jet Neptune, a group dressed in Garfield outfits were denied entry to Creator Clash 2 over the fear that one of them was Sam Hyde in disguise — despite claiming none of them even knew who the internet prankster was. “Creator Clash banned this group of paying customers from entry because ‘one of them could’ve been Sam Hyde in disguise,’” the tweet read. “None of them know who Sam is. Ian Jomha [Idubbzz] strikes again!” Furthermore, YouTuber Brandon Buckingham also claimed that the Creator Clash organizers banned the use of face masks at the event — once more due to the fear of Sam Hyde being in disguise. Nevertheless, Sam may have still been able to enter the event after all. A day prior, Hyde tweeted he was able to follow iDubbbz around a different venue dressed in drag — claiming Ian never noticed.

YouTuber claims he lost his job over videos about PewDiePie – Dexerto
YouTuber claims he lost his job over videos about PewDiePie Isaiah Photo, YouTube / PewDiePie, InstagramYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg is arguably one of the most popular YouTubers in the world, being the number one most subscribed, independent creator on the site – but he’s suffered plenty of controversies during his career, which have affected more than just himself. Another YouTuber on the site, going by the name ‘Isaiah Photo,’ claimed that he’d lost a job opportunity due to making videos at the height of the “Subscribe to PewDiePie” train, amid his battle with T-Series in early 2019. While Isaiah clarified that he had no personal relationship with Kjellberg, he alleged that his videos on the topic had cost him a client, as shown in a series of emails. 600https://www.instagram.com/p/Byz9bs_gwzb/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_linkIsaiah is a full-time freelance photographer, being in the business for over five years, and creates YouTube videos in his spare time as a hobby. However, one of his clients did a little digging and discovered his YouTube channel, which he claims he does not cross-promote with his photography business, whatsoever – resulting in their ultimate denial of his services. 500https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huoave91XYI “TBH, we have concerns about associations with PewDiePie, as he has been reported as being something of a racist and anti-Semitic,” one of the client’s emails read. “We have a relationship with Lucasfilm, and their parent company, Disney, canceled their contract with that YouTuber due to his behavior, which we do not support.” Isaiah claimed that the emails “blew his mind,” arguing that the mainstream media is responsible for painting big-time YouTubers in a bad light – which ultimately affects other creators on the site. “That was mind-blowing to me,” Isaiah said of the exchange. “That really rocked the boat. I wasn’t expecting that, at all. I was expecting a, ‘Wow, that’s really cool,’ kind of response. …in the end, it ended up biting me in the butt.” While PewDiePie has yet to respond to Isaiah’s video on the matter, he has similarly lashed out at the media following his ample controversies, even taking shots at outlets like Vox, in the process. Despite losing his crown to T-Series, PewDiePie boasts over 96 million subscribers as of June 23, as a result of his battle with the Bollywood label.

YouTuber Chris Stuckmann reveals “biggest” problem with Pixar’s Onward – Dexerto
YouTuber Chris Stuckmann reveals “biggest” problem with Pixar’s Onward YouTube/Chris StuckmannFilm critic and popular YouTuber Chris Stuckmann has revealed why he has no intention on watching Pixar’s Onward again. Onward stars Chris Pratt and Tom Holland as brothers who live in a world where magic is real, but the people in it have forgotten how to use magic. As a result, people have become reliant on modern technology. That all changes when the brothers discover a message from their deceased father and embark on a quest with their dad’s legs to bring him fully back to life. While Stuckmann appreciates the film for being original, looking photo-realistic, and never feeling boring, he has no plans to watch it again. “I would say I liked it about as much as I did Monsters University,” he explained, referencing another Pixar flick. “That movie was fine for a one-time watch. I’ve never watched it since. I’ll probably never watch Onward again.” “There’s a lot of attempt at humor and I found a lot of the jokes weren’t very funny,” the critic added. However, his biggest problem was how he had a difficult time siding with the main characters and connecting with their “plight.” “I didn’t really care that much that these two brothers never had much of a relationship with their father and now they’re running around with his legs,” he stated. “Unfortunately it’s really hard to connect with the lower half of someone’s body – God, this is going to turn into a Rated-R review,” he laughed. “When the person you’re supposed to care about bringing back to life, even for just one day, is nothing but pants, it’s kinda hard to give a s**t,” Stuckmann proclaimed. Luckily, the ending of the film and its third act seem to have “saved it” for the YouTuber. “Up until then I thought it was on the lower end of Pixar’s rank, but after the third act it picked up.” “I think it’s going to depend on how much you care about these two brothers trying to bring their dad back,” he warned potential viewers. While he recommended that viewers check it out, Stuckmann also expects better from the studio in the future. As such, he awarded the film a “B” grade.

Five women came forward in June 2020 to accuse D’Elia of sexual impropriety. Two of the alleged victims — Julia Holtzman and Simone Rossi — were 17 years old and in high school when D’Elia first begun initiating contact with them. In interviews with the Los Angeles Times, Julia, Simone and three other women all alleged that D’Elia would begin by being initially flirty before conversations and situations quickly escalated. YouTuber Chloe Donald gets TikTok account banned for being “underage” Twitter: ChloeDonaldChloe Donald has just revealed she has been logged out of her TikTok account and been permanently banned on the platform due to her allegedly breaking “community guidelines” by being underage. The content creator is 27. Chloe Donald has been gaining popularity over recent years. She is on Twitch, Youtube and many more content platforms. Donald does a variety of content from gameplay videos, vlogs and even G FUEl reviews. She is also one of the only creators who has a sponsorship with Roman Atwood’s company “Smile More.” However, she’s been struggling to prove to platforms she’s actually old enough to be on there. Six months ago, the 27-year-old Scottish streamer had her comment sections disabled on YouTube due to the platform believing she was underage. After the situation she was open about discussing how YouTube steps in to disable comments. The reasoning she believes is possibly due to her “child-like appearance.” This is part of the 2019 YouTube feature that turns off comments on videos that include children as a way to minimize predatory messages. However, Donald now finds herself yet again facing issues with verifying her age, this time on TikTok. TikTok believes Chloe Donald is much younger than her actual age On Twitter, Donald has been uploading screenshots of how she is now unable to access her TikTok account. In one tweet, Donald posted an image of her banned account. It was captioned, “apparently they can’t verify my age, even though I am 27 and have submitted my passport ID.” She then discusses her surprise at the news. How a warning or a heads up was never given. She is also now calling on her community to help rectify this mistake. When reaching out to the TikTok support team to clear up the issue, they doubled down on her age being the cause for the ban. The message from TikTok even goes so far as saying she is under the age of 13 and that the “account has been permanently deleted” as a result of Donald not being in TikTok’s “experience for younger users.” However, Donald does seem to be trying to make light of the situation. After revealing her banning from TikTok, she has posted about her Twitch content with the caption “13 year old gamer streaming.” Donald is still waiting to hear back about fixing the banning of her TikTok account. TikTok are yet to comment on Chloe Donald’s banning, other than the messages sent about her being under the age of 13.
