  • YouTuber celebrates Super Bowl with 10,000 calorie nachos challenge – Dexerto

YouTuber celebrates Super Bowl with 10,000 calorie nachos challenge Matt Stonie – YouTubeMost people just bring chips and dip to their Super Bowl parties, but YouTuber Matt Stonie did things a little differently, prepping for the NFL final with an absolutely huge plate of nachos that surpassed 10,000 calories. Stonie is well-known for his crazy food challenges, and this time he prepared himself a massive plate of nachos that included a smorgasbord of ingredients. His entire channel is built around devouring obscene amounts of food in a short amount of time, something that has allowed him to balloon to over 10 million subscribers. On February 1, the day before the Super Bowl, he prepared his mountain of nachos and the dish very quickly racked up the calories. He went all out, including everything from salsa, guacamole, ground beef, and even some bacon. Of course, he had no choice but to eat the mountain of food after he put it together. Amazingly, he was able to clean off the entire plate in just over 20 minutes. 10,000 calories is a lot of food to digest, no matter which way you slice it, so it’s an absolutely incredible feat he was able to pull off here. Of course, this isn’t the YouTuber’s first rodeo as he’s scarfed down plates of food larger than this in the past and will likely continue to do so in the future. Making a plate of nachos this size would likely require several people to finish, so if you feel like mimicking it, the Super Bowl would be the perfect time. Nachos are a very popular dish for groups to prepare for the Super Bowl because of how easy they are to make. With that said, if you are bringing these over to a party, you should make sure you give a heads up to your group because coming in with a portion like these will likely turn some heads. For most people, however, just some simple chips and dip will go down well enough during the football, so don’t worry too much about going all out as Stonie did.

  • YouTuber charged $3,000 for using memes claims he’s being “extorted” – Dexerto

YouTuber charged $3,000 for using memes claims he’s being “extorted” Popular YouTuber MxR has claimed that a licensing company has been “extorting” his channel over the use of memes after getting hit with a major bill. MxR, who has close to three million subscribers across their three YouTube channels, creates a variety of content that includes reaction videos, gameplay, and even game mod reviews. With their reaction videos, the YouTuber typically picks out memes from social media – with some being other YouTube uploads and viral clips. Due to this, he has revealed on Twitter that Jukin Media, an entertainment licensing company, has struck him with another bill for around $3,000 and that he thinks he’ll have to pay otherwise his channel could be in danger of being struck down. Here are the charges Jukin media gave me. $3000 for a single meme bc it contained footage from two of their clips. If I don’t pay this, they’ll strike and take down my channel. pic.twitter.com/61h8FrJJxf — MxR (@mmoxreview) January 10, 2020 Prior to his tweets, the YouTuber and his co-host Jeanie, uploaded a video explaining their current situation, claiming that the company in question has been trying to “extort” them purely because they’ve paid their bill before. The content creators explained that the copyright system has been changed from license owners claiming a video and then receiving revenue to them issuing strikes and their own bills. As they’ve run into issues with Jukin previously, the pair noted that they’d removed clips from their videos and paid around $2,000 to the company – which they believe shows that they’re willing to pay and, therefore, they’ve been hit with larger sums. “I feel like if they treated every YouTuber like this, tonnes of channels would be deleted right now,” he explained. “If you go on any YouTube channel, chances are like some f**king video on the internet played at some point, but they’re not going after them and taking them down. They’re going after us because I think we gave them money.” Jukin jumped into the comments section to make themselves heard, and also posted a screenshot of their comment on Twitter – explaining that their licensing is no different to people like Shutterstock and issues can be avoided by paying a membership fee. “You’re making money off of videos that don’t belong to you — our only goal here is to ensure that the rightful owners of the videos are compensated,” they tweeted. “We’re happy to talk and try to find a resolution that works for everyone.” Whether or not the two sides will be able to come to a resolution on the matter remains to be seen but it appears that there are certainly avenues for them to go down. If not, the YouTubers revealed that they may have to make a change to their content, scrapping the use of some videos in their reactions in order to keep their channel going.

  • YouTuber celebrates landmark victory over Toei Animation after 150 copyright strikes – Dexerto

YouTuber celebrates landmark victory over Toei Animation after 150 copyright strikes YouTube: Totally Not Mark / Toei AnimationPopular anime essayist ‘Totally Not Mark’ has achieved a landmark YouTube victory against Toei Animation after the anime company served him with over 150 copyright strikes in a single day. In December 2021, anime reviewer Totally Not Mark came to his 700,000 subscribers with sobering news — over 150 of his videos had been claimed by Toei Animation on grounds of copyright infringement. Toei Animation is a Japanese animation company that owns the rights to such shows as One Piece, Dragon Ball, and more. Totally Not Mark is known for his reviews of Dragon Ball episodes and films, where he sometimes uses footage from the content he’s reviewing. According to Mark, Toei had effectively blocked the equivalent of three years of his work, leaving him “devastated” and stressed about providing for both his team and his family during the holiday season. After some back and forth with YouTube and heartfelt pleading with Toei, Mark eventually stepped away from the situation and privated his initial videos discussing the matter. However, in January 2022, Mark returned with a shocking update: YouTube had reinstated his affected videos in most countries outside of Japan. Totally Not Mark gives update on Toei copyright strike drama This latest development came about after Toei purportedly failed to comply with YouTube’s copyright strike policy. Rather than responding with a “justification” for their 150 + takedown notices, Toei instead manually claimed and blocked “each and every one” of the videos, as per Mark’s newest announcement. As a result of this, YouTube could avoid effectively “picking a side” in this battle, and has now reinstated Mark’s videos in most countries outside of Japan. This means that, should Toei hit Mark with another strike, they would be acting outside of their own country’s copyright laws. “YouTube felt the videos could reasonably qualify for a fair use exemption in most of the rest of the world,” Mark explained. “So the content will remain up everywhere else until, or unless, Toei can make an argument that it would not qualify for copyright exemption in other territories.” Mark claimed that this is the first time YouTube has applied such a rule to matters of copyright, making this a landmark victory for anime reviewers on the platform after being supported by such creators as MoistCritikal and even PewDiePie amid the initial chaos. Toei has not publicly commented on the subject at the time of writing.

YouTuber hilariously reveals how he reached rank 8 in StarCraft 2 YouTube/Casually ExplainedCasually Explained has a massive following on YouTube with over two million subscribers thanks to his comedic “explained” series done using Microsoft Paint. But did you know he used to be one of the best StarCraft players in North America? In his latest video titled, “Casually Explained: Casual Explainer, but Serious Gamer”, the YouTuber reveals he used to be really big into strategy games and why StarCraft 2 appealed to him. “The big appeal to me, for a game like StarCraft 2 was that it was 1vs1,” he said. “So unlike a lot of popular games, you always knew that if you beat the opponent it was because of your own superior skill. And if you lost the only person to blame was the developers for designing the game incorrectly.” 600The video goes on with Casually Explained revealing that he used to study VODS of top players and watched analysis videos. He was that into it For fans of StarCraft, there’s quite a few inside jokes or references that are sure to put a smile on your face. When explaining the three StarCraft races, Terran, Protoss and Zerg, casually said that he played Protoss because his previous hobby used to be rubix cubing. As he played the game more, he improved immensely and eventually reached the grand master tier which was made up of the top 200 of each server. Then one day, NA’s top player HuK was streaming, Casually decided to queue up in an attempt to play him. But instead of being matched with Huk, he was placed against Bomber – one of the top Koreans in the world. However, Bomber would leave the game. Not once, but twice because he wanted to match against HuK. Upon Casually’s third queue, he was matched against HuK and miraculously won, which resulted in him peaking at rank 8 on NA servers. Thinking one more win would put him at number one, he queued once again and was matched against Bomber. Only this time, Bomber wouldn’t leave and crushed him. “I left the game and said to myself, ‘damn. Not only did you beat HuK, you just beat Bomber 2-1. I guess you’re the best, dude.’ And then I quit the game.” Now, years later, Casually is once again playing StarCraft and is doing a GM in 30 days series on Twitch. He is currently on day 74.

  • YouTuber builds PS5 Slim console – but it nearly melts – Dexerto

YouTuber builds PS5 Slim console – but it nearly melts YouTube: DIY PerksYouTuber DIY Perks has successfully managed to build a PS5 slim console by himself. However, it wasn’t the easiest of tasks. The PS5 is famed for being a monster of a machine. As Sony’s biggest ever console, the PS5 weighs in at 390mm (15.4 inches) tall, 260mm (10.24 inches) deep, and 104mm (4.09 inches) wide. So, it’s no surprise that fans have been desperate for a Slim version similar to that of the PS4 that would still be able to run AAA titles without overheating. Despite it seeming like an impossible task, technological wizard DIY Perks managed to build his own DIY of a PS5 Slim. Although, he experienced his fair share of setbacks. DIY Perks builds PS5 Slim console Documenting the mammoth task on his YouTube channel, DIY Perks set to work deconstructing a PS5 console aiming to squeeze all the components into a 2cm tall console. Although this wasn’t his only challenge. Another important factor was ensuring that his DIY console had the appropriate cooling system that would prevent the machine from overheating which would kill it. While it might seem impossible to some, DIY Perks was perfectly skilled for the job. The YouTuber has previously taken on projects such as constructing a working submarine, an artificial sun, and an invisible monitor. For his latest project, Perks began by stripping away all the chunky cooling components inside the PS5’s internal system. He then swapped them for a water-cooling system that he attached to a hidden away power brick. However, he hit a major bump in the road when a basket that he had been using to balance the power brick fell over and disrupted the airflow causing the PS5 to overheat. Yet, he quickly resolved the problem thanks to using the parts from another PS5 and even managed to set himself up for a game of Horizon: Forbidden West which ran perfectly.

  • YouTuber Brooke Houts to keep dog during LAPD investigation – Dexerto

YouTuber Brooke Houts to keep dog during LAPD investigation Brooke Houts YouTubeThe Los Angeles Police Department’s animal cruelty task force have reportedly allowed YouTuber Brooke Houts to keep her dog in the wake of viral dog abuse claims, according to TMZ. The internet was set aflame with rage after Houts mistakenly uploaded a YouTube video on August 5 with unedited footage appearing to show her being verbally and physically aggressive toward her Doberman named Sphinx. Usually Houts features Sphinx in her videos, which made people surprised as well as scared for the canine after hordes of members from social media communities speculated on the extent and degree of the mistreatment. Law enforcement sources reportedly indicated that Houts will be allowed, at least for the time being, to keep Sphinx during the investigation as they have so far determined the Doberman to not be in “immediate danger,” according to TMZ. With that said, it seems like law enforcement will still be looking into the matter to determine if Houts truly is a threat toward Sphinx. If the LAPD come to this conclusion, Houts could have her Doberman taken away from her, the report said. The sirens calling out Houts for the images depicting her slapping and seemingly spitting on Sphinx got the attention of the LAPD, who opened an investigation on the content creator shortly after massive backlash forced their hand. “Our Animal Cruelty Task Force has received numerous complaints about the video you’re speaking of, and we are currently looking into the matter,” the LAPD said when the case first opened. The video sparked a blaze of criticisms aimed at Houts for her actions that ranged from disappointment to downright furious takes with H3H3’s Ethan Klein even being “serious” about adopting Sphinx to ensure the animal’s safety. While many agreed that disciplining an animal when they act out of line can be necessary in a lot of circumstances, the methods used by Houts were “unwarranted” and “inappropriate,” according to popular YouTuber Logan Paul. “Discipline your animals should they misbehave. I get it,” Paul said. “But despite the hitting, the spitting is a totally unwarranted, inappropriate, and vile display of energy that makes this woman completely unfit to own that dog.” Many await the findings that will come about once the investigation ends to see what action, if any, the LAPD take.

YouTuber Brooke Houts accidentally uploads video smacking her dog YouTube: Brooke HoutsYouTuber Brooke Houts, who regularly posts videos of her alongside Doberman named Sphinx, has come under scrutiny after an unedited clip was accidentally uploaded to her channel appearing to show her slapping and appearing to spit on her dog. The clip was accidentally uploaded to her channel on August 5, and showed the 20-year-old acting aggressively towards her pet who was interrupting while she tried to film. This brought the ire of the online community, who lashed out at the content creator for the way she treated the Doberman, with Houts eventually deactivating her Twitter account due to the backlash she was receiving, although later reactivated it. The video in question was removed from her channel, and replaced with the video that was originally intended to be uploaded, but was downloaded before it’s deletion and shared on social media. The clip shows Houts telling her audience that she planned to “prank her dog” by putting plastic wrap across a door and calling it, to see how it would react when it was unable to reach her because of the see-through barrier. A frustrated Houts can be seen getting jumped on by her dog, and then slapping the dog in the side of the face to knock it down, before following it off camera. A second section shows the dog approach her while she is on her knees, with Houts forcing it down by using her weight to push him to the floor, yell “Stop” and make a sound which appears to be her spitting on the animal. The final section shows the dog approach her again, and lick her on the face, with Houts again shoving the dog away and following it out of view of the camera. haha hilarious prank @brookehouts !!! xD pic.twitter.com/kjvmOnln7e — shoe (@shoe0nhead) August 7, 2019 Many jumped to criticize her behavior towards her dog, with one user stating that if she wasn’t “emotionally mature enough” to control her temper around the dog, she shouldn’t have one. Doberman is jumping up in my face with his mouth open, I do, as a dog parent, have to show him that this behaviour is unacceptable, but I want to make it known, REGARDLESS of what my dog does, I should not have acted that way towards him.” “I want to clarify that I am NOT a dog abuser in any way, shape, or form. My dog (was not) hurt by any action I displayed in this video. If he was audibly or visibly in pain, it would be a different story. The 21-year-old content creator frequently posts prank videos featuring an array of public antics, from eating people’s delivery foods in front of them to bringing his whole streaming setup to Office Depot. While many of his videos have garnered over a million views, Joseph recently teared up while streaming on Twitch. Getting “everything off [his] chest,” he shared insight into the difficulties of content creation and audience expectations. Reposting the clip to YouTube, Joseph admitted he had been feeling this way “since last year” and was “tired of people thinking I’m inconsistent.” “I try, dead ass I do,” he said. “I try and I’m tired of people f****** sitting here saying ‘Oh, he doesn’t care, he fell off… he doesn’t work his ass off.’ I try, bro, I try.” Joseph went on to say that he had attempted to “restart” on many occasions but “sh** just happens”, claiming “that’s life” and he just wanted to be “honest” with his fans as to what was going on behind the scenes. “I’ve been f***** over by so many people,” he said, going on to recount how his “kindness” had been “taken advantage” of by those he “trusted.” This included being promised deals that never came to fruition and hiring people who were ultimately there to “benefit on themselves.” “Behind the screens bro, I am one of the f****** people that just put people before myself… I’m tired of it… these people backstabbed me, did me dirty so many f****** times… and I forgive people, bro.” Joseph blamed the industry, insisting “no one cares about you” and “no one is your friend.” In the comments, he added that his breakdown came from a “year of stress building up” and promised that “a lot of things are gonna change” as he worked toward finding “better people” to surround himself with. Fans offered their support, with one person writing that viewers needed to “understand [Joseph’s] a human and has feelings.” “Seeing this guy break down like this genuinely hurts. Social media is the one of the worst things to ever be created,” another wrote. A third shared a similar sentiment, commenting, “I feel your pain when you say this game is difficult, and it’s everyone doing what’s best for them instead of helping others.” They continued with words of encouragement, writing, “Know that you are not alone, and that your true fans will always be here for you. You’ve accomplished so much, and I know you’ll bounce back on top again!”

  • YouTuber Brent Rivera under fire for “plagiarizing” other creators – Dexerto

YouTuber Brent Rivera under fire for “plagiarizing” other creators YouTube: Brent Rivera, drewdoesPopular YouTuber Brent Rivera is coming under fire for “plagiarizing” other creators after a fellow influencer called him out for copying his video ideas and thumbnails. Parallel thinking is a common occurrence that happens across many creative industries, with filmmakers, music artists, and more taking inspiration from other works quite often. However, one YouTuber is being called out for outright copying other content creators’ videos, and even thumbnails… and the internet isn’t happy about it. Popular YouTuber and TikTok star Brent Rivera is facing backlash after being accused of “plagiarizing” work from other creators after YouTuber David Liu noticed some glaring similarities between his videos and projects from his peers. Brent Rivera faces backlash for “plagiarizing” YouTube videos & thumbnails “Wow, I rarely call out creators, but… Brent Rivera is a plagiarist,” he wrote in a tweet. “For the video that I got to work on with @falchook, Brent copied the: idea, title, thumbnail, hotels, story elements. So I’m kinda mad.” Liu went on to provide a thread of similar instances, with Rivera seemingly copying ideas and thumbnails from YouTubers like Matthew Beem, Zealous, Andrew Does, and even Airrack. “Although one can’t do anything about copyright, I’d probably suggest most people in the YouTube space block him to avoid him pillaging ideas from your content,” Liu advised in another post. Liu’s Twitter thread has stirred up quite the conversation about plagiarism and parallel thinking in the space… but this isn’t the first time Rivera has come under the microscope. In February, Rivera released an apology after he called security on a fellow YouTuber who was staying in the same hotel as him — an altercation that resulted in the involvement of local authorities to diffuse the situation. Although Rivera claimed he “wasn’t proud” of how he handled the ordeal, he continued to receive criticism over the altercation, and it doesn’t look like the internet has any more goodwill for him following this latest expose. • YouTuber Boogie2988 says he “No longer feels safe” promoting BetterHelp – Dexerto

YouTuber Boogie2988 says he “No longer feels safe” promoting BetterHelp Steven ‘Boogie2988’ Williams joins the growing list of YouTubers who have spoken out against BetterHelp in light of the recent controversy regarding the online counseling service. Following the mounting set of allegations against BetterHelp, popular YouTube personality Boogie has dropped the service as a sponsor and gone into detail about what led him to this decision. Boogie’s response to the situation comes just days after Philip DeFranco, who is also sponsored by BetterHelp, doubled down on his support for the service. Having been dealing with severe depression and anxiety, Boogie explained that he first came to hear about BetterHelp through advertisements DeFranco’s videos and decided to sign up for the service. Boogie then used it for six weeks before becoming aware of the company’s “scary” Terms of Service. Despite finding value in the service, as it led him to speak to his doctors in order to get the necessary medications to better his mental health, the TOS was nonetheless a breaking point for Boogie. Read More: PewDiePie calls out YouTubers for making mental health based videos to promote BetterHelp – “After seeing the Terms of Service, I no longer feel safe promoting it,” Boogie said of BetterHelp. Even though he continues to use the service, he is still worried about the potential ramifications of the TOS, including the possibility that any information he’s shared through the service could be sold off by BetterHelp. Given the negativity surrounding the service and his own feelings about it, Boogie has also decided what to do with any money he made from the sponsorship. “However much money I made off of BetterHelp, I don’t feel comfortable keeping [it]. I’m going to give that money to the Suicide Prevention Hotline and St. Jude.” Boogie ends the video by expressing his regret for not looking deeper into the company’s TOS and for profiting from his viewers’ mental health before urging viewers to seek professional help rather than trusting the word of him or any other YouTuber when it comes to finding mental health assistance.

  • YouTuber Bradley Martyn tells Andrew Schulz he could “beat the f**k” out of Jake Paul – Dexerto

YouTuber Bradley Martyn tells Andrew Schulz he could “beat the f**k” out of Jake Paul Flagrant 2 YouTubeYouTuber Bradley Martyn told Andrew Schulz he was confident in taking on Jake Paul should the two ever meet in an MMA bout. Paul has been taking the boxing scene by storm since lacing up the gloves on his way to a 5-0 record. The 24-year-old influencer makes huge spectacles of his fights and it’s been attracting attention from big talents like Conor McGregor. The YouTuber’s young career has been piquing the interest of many social media influencers with speculation of who his next fight should be. Though a bout between Martyn and Paul isn’t expected in the future, Schulz wanted to hear the fitness influencer’s idea of how that fight might go down. To Paul’s credit, Martyn thinks a striking fight between the two would be interesting, but if it were a true MMA-style bout, there’d be no competition. “Yeah, I’d beat the f**k out of [Jake Paul,]” Martyn said after Schulz brought up the idea. “In MMA. Boxing? No.” The pair were impressed with Paul’s run in the ring which has so far displayed the fighter’s strength against opponents. But Martyn was frank when he said his weight and grappling abilities would make quick work of Paul in mixed martial arts. (Timestamp at 3:08 for mobile viewers) Admittedly, the name of the game would stay relatively the same depending on if the fight was boxing or MMA. If it was the former, Martyn said he would probably have a difficult time keeping up with strikes. Read more: UFC legend Michael Bisping eager for Jake Paul fight: “Sign me up!” But if it was MMA, he would be able to tire out Paul by putting pressure on the fighter and forcing him to tire out heading into deeper rounds. Paul has been turning heads since starting his boxing career that has made a big impression of fellow YouTubers like Schulz and Martyn.

  • YouTuber beats record for most slices eaten at Gordon Ramsay’s bottomless pizza restaurant – Dexerto

YouTuber beats record for most slices eaten at Gordon Ramsay’s bottomless pizza restaurant YouTube: BeardMeatsFoodGordon Ramsay’s Street Kitchen challenges restaurant-goers to test their appetite with a pizza-eating challenge — and one YouTuber just beat the record. For just £17, restaurant-goers at Gordon Ramsay’s Street Kitchen can eat as much pizza as their stomachs allow in a bid to beat the record for most slices in two hours. The winner gets their name on top of the blackboard and some major bragging rights, with the record previously standing at a whooping 38 slices. However, that has all changed after one YouTuber took on the challenge and took home the crown. Adam Moran, who goes by ‘BeardMeatsFood’ online, is an English competitive eater and YouTuber. He frequently shares videos of himself traveling across the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada to various restaurants where he attempts to beat the eating challenges they have on offer. And his latest venture has seen him wander into Gordan Ramsay’s very own Street Kitchen, where he mistakingly thought the record for most pizza slices was 18 — not 38. “Buckle up folks,” Moran said. “It’s going to be a bumpy ride.” Nonetheless, Moran ultimately prevailed with the help of a yoga pose used to help with eating, inhaling an impressive total of 48 slices. “That was hard work but we got it done, new record 48 slices,” Moran said. “Come down, see if you can beat it. Or actually don’t, just have one of their regular pizzas.” Check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

  • YouTuber ‘Boogie2988’ believes Jake Paul’s parents are narcissists – Dexerto

YouTuber ‘Boogie2988’ believes Jake Paul’s parents are narcissists Popular YouTuber Steven ‘Boogie2988’ Williams weighed in on Shane Dawson’s docuseries focused on Jake Paul and had some things to say about Paul’s upbringing. Due to the popularity of Dawson’s documentary, Jake Paul has been the talk of YouTube for the last few weeks. That fact remained true when Boogie2988 provided his thoughts on the series and what he’s come to learn from it. Boogie started off his video by praising Dawson for taking one of YouTube’s most polarizing figures and adding a humanizing element to the equation. One thing that Boogie makes clear that he wants the series to really dial in on as it comes to a close, though, is Paul’s upbringing. “The other thing I hope they really hammer home with the ending of this Shane Dawson documentary is the fact that I genuinely believe he was raised by what appears to be narcissists,” Boogie says about Paul’s parents.” I don’t mean the kind you see on YouTube every day that claim to be narcissists. But I mean actual, genuine narcissists.” Despite this, Boogie admits that Paul’s parents likely had good intentions in raising their two sons in the way they did, but concluding that it simply did more harm than good in the end. Even with all of the negativity that has surrounded Paul throughout his career, Boogie has hope for Paul’s future moving forward. “Maybe it’s time for the outlandish stuff to stop and start doing outlandishly good things. Outlandishly positive things. It looks like Jake is the kind of person who might really consider that moving forward.” The final two episodes of Dawson’s series, which are set to feature interviews from Paul’s ex-girlfriend Alissa Violet and Paul himself, are set to drop on Tuesday, October 16 and Thursday, October 18.

  • YouTuber BasicallyHomeless makes $10k gaming PC inside a Mini Fridge – Dexerto

YouTuber BasicallyHomeless makes $10k gaming PC inside a Mini Fridge Amazon, YouTube: BasicallyHomelessYouTuber BasicallyHomeless has finally created the essential PC setup that every gamer dreams of, as his Nvidia RTX 3090 powered gaming mini-fridge might change appliances forever. When you need to take a break from picking up wins in Warzone, there’s nothing that kicking back with a cold drink and soaking in the taste of victory. Over the years, plenty of gamers have picked up mini-fridges to keep near their gaming set-ups. Microsoft even embraced the trend by creating working mini-fridges based on the Xbox Series X design. Yet, YouTuber BasicallyHomeless has taken things to the next level with his $10,000 setup that is here to keep your 12 pack of Pepsi Max as cool as ice while you slay fools in Verdansk. $10,000 fridge is the future of gaming The YouTuber has had his ambitious project sat in the background for so long, that he “lost 20lbs” and had his “firstborn son” over the course of developing the unusual creation. Though, he finally got round to putting it all together. Initially trying to put a PC setup straight into a mini-fridge, this variation “doesn’t work” and turns the situation into a “hot insulated wet box, with really expensive and broken computer parts in it.” As the cooling system just “wasn’t powerful enough,” this meant that the content creator had to think outside of the box. “Why not overclock the refrigerator?” he added when explaining the process of the build. Ultimately, he was able to put a build together with an RTX 3090 graphics card, so the games look as good as possible while keeping the drinks chilly. From the science behind the fridge side of things, the YouTuber had to rustle up”custom fabricated holes or mounts,” to make it work. In the end, the PC/mini-fridge could chill a drink at 12 degrees/56.6 Fahrenheit. Interestingly, it gave better cooling at 4K resolution than 2K as well. If this mini-fridge is a start, who knows what appliance could become the ultimate gaming machine next.

  • YouTuber Bald and Bankrupt finally uploads video that got him detained by Russian police – Dexerto

YouTuber Bald and Bankrupt finally uploads video that got him detained by Russian police YOUTUBE: BALDANDBANKRUPTYouTuber Bald and Bankrupt has finally uploaded the video that got him arrested and detained by authorities in Kazakhstan, after exploring a Russian-owned space center. British YouTuber Benjamin Rich, known as Bald and Bankrupt, was detained at a Russian space center in Baikonur by local authorities. It was believed that he had broken into the derelict spaceport in the Kazakh city of Baikonur, and was given a three-day jail term when caught by Russian police. Many fans wanted to see the video that got him arrested and detained back in May, and the YouTuber has finally uploaded a 40-minute long vlog to his channel, revealing the incident. Bald and Bankrupt reveals the truth in new YouTube video The new video, which has already been viewed over a million times, shows Rich and his wife making the difficult journey through the night, guided only by Google Maps. Having hidden from security in a desert bunker, the couple managed to make it to the site at the end of a near 12-hour journey. They found a room in a building they didn’t know about, and slept for a couple of hours before exploring. The building they had stumbled into turned out to be the dining hall for Russia scientists at the space base. The couple finally managed to find the main hub of the spaceport, but it was boarded up. Having found a rusty metal ladder, they scaled a huge wall and climbed into the building through a broken window. When they entered, they found the holy grail of Soviet exploration. After taking their time to explore the site, the couple managed to leave the facility unharmed, but the video then cut to snippets from news outlets talking about their arrest. The video then cut to the couple standing outside a hotel explaining what actually happened. Rich said: “We didn’t have to walk back. As soon as we came down the ladder, a car turned up full of MBD – the Russian internal police.” He continued: “And they ‘arrested’ us by taking us to the closed city of Baikonur. It was bloody epic.” His wife Alina added: “We spent the last seven hours there and paid £50 each.” Rich concluded: “Yeah, we paid a fine – not three days in prison. It was a good day. If you’re going to go to Baikonur, take £50 with you.” The YouTube video, titled ‘This Video Caused An International Incident!’ has over 1 million views already, with many viewers praising Rich for his resilience.

  • YouTuber banned for life after walking into NBA Finals dressed as Golden State Warriors player – Dexerto

YouTuber banned for life after walking into NBA Finals dressed as Golden State Warriors player bigdawstv / InstagramA YouTuber has revealed he has been banned for life after dressing up in Golden State Warriors gear and getting past security in Game 5 of the NBA Finals versus the Boston Celtics. The ban relates not to his YouTube account, but to the Game 5 venue – the Chase Center – in San Francisco, California. Golden State took the contest to a 3-2 score, after defeating their opponents by 104 points to 94. On the night, a YouTube content creator decided to sneak past five different barriers of security disguised as Golden State star Klay Thompson to secure his (literal) 10 minutes of fame. YouTuber claims 10 minutes of fame with NBA Finals “trespass” YouTuber BigDawsTV pulled on a Golden State Warriors jersey, shorts, and a few other accessories to enter restricted areas of the Chase Center. This eventually led to him shooting around the court as if he was a professional athlete. In a series of tweets, Daws explained how things went down on June 13. He said: “At Game 5 and Golden State Warriors just banned me for life from their arena. Banned because I walked past five layers of security guards (who willingly let me through security without asking for ID) and shot around on the court for 10 minutes. “I also spent $10,000 on tickets which they are not refunding. Why should I be banned because their security is incompetent?” Banned bc I walked pass 5 layers of security guards (who willingly let me through security without asking for ID) & shot around on the court for 10 minutes. I also spent 10K on tickets which they are not refunding. Why should I be banned because their security is incompetent? — Daws (@BigDawsTv) June 13, 2022 A later tweet showed the official ban letter, confirming he had broken the “Fan Code of Conduct of Chase Center, GSW, and the NBA League.” To have the ban removed, the content creator would have to put valid reasoning and submit that in writing. Other tweets said: “Was it worth it to lose $10,000 on tickets and be banned for life? Absolutely. I was an NBA player for 10 minutes bro…” He also confirmed that while he has had opportunities to be a part of interviews for multiple news outlets, he “don’t want to make this a bigger deal than it is is” and admits the Chase Center’s ban is well within their rights. Im being contacted by a lot of news organizations to do interviews. As of now I will not be doing any. Don’t want to make this a bigger deal than it is, the chase center has every right to ban me. I get it. No hard feelings. Had fun doing it 👍🏼 — Daws (@BigDawsTv) June 14, 2022 Whether or not the decision will be appealed in the future remains to be seen. For now, he won’t be allowed anywhere near the Golden State Warriors team for Game 6, Game 7 (if it goes that far), or any other match moving forward. BigDawsTV will be posting the full video, showing footage of their experience of Game 5, to his YouTube channel.

  • YouTuber baits Tiger King’s Carole Baskin with fake “Jimmy Fallon” show – Dexerto

YouTuber baits Tiger King’s Carole Baskin with fake “Jimmy Fallon” show YouTube: Josh Pieters & Archie MannersYouTuber Josh Pieters managed to trick the one and only Carole Baskin from hit Netflix show Tiger King into participating in an interview on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” – and it went off without a hitch. Carole Baskin has been the subject of enormous internet debate ever since Netflix’s hit documentary Tiger King exploded in popularity. It follows the story of Joe Exotic and his gigantic collection of tigers, and his ongoing feud with the Big Cat Rescue owner over the ethics of keeping the felines in captivity. YouTube prankster Josh Pieters and his sidekick Archie Manners have been known to fool celebrities for videos, and the cats rights activist is their latest victim, baiting the 58-year-old into her first public interview since the TV show aired. YouTubers bait Carole Baskin Obviously getting the real Jimmy Fallon in to interview the “Tiger Queen” was impossible, so Josh and his trusty sidekick did the next best thing – they used his voice from previous show recordings to impersonate him and to trick her into thinking she was really talking to the TV host via Zoom. Carole agreed to the appearance provided that it would strictly be about cats and wouldn’t mention Tiger King or Joe Exotic in any capacity. Archie contacted her by phone to confirm before the call, under the guise of “Matthew” from “Invisible Object” – the production company they’d told her was working on the show. The American told the prankster that she had a very specific way she wanted to be introduced on air – the “Founder and CEO of Big Cat Rescue” – and stated that she was “very grateful” it wasn’t going to be “that b**ch Carole Baskin.” (Timestamp 3:43 for mobile viewers.) The day of the interview came, and “Matthew” emailed the TV star a link to the Zoom call. They were afraid she might not show, but she came through to her word and they got her to list off a few types of cats she likes in order to “check the sound levels” and explained why she would be able to hear “Jimmy Fallon” but not see him – because he was being filmed on proper cameras in his house. “Thank you so much for being on our show. We appreciate it, we love you, how are you?” the host asked by way of a sound clip from a previous episode. “I am doing great!” Carole replied. “I am doing great, my daughter Jamie suggested I do this interview with you, so she says “Hi!” and we are working every day with the cats of the sanctuary.” She then revealed how the organization had to let around half of their staff go due to lack of tourism during the current world situation, but said that the animals are fine and well looked after, though she wasn’t sure if they’d “ever be able to do tours again.” The pranksters even got the animal rights activist to say her famous phrase “Hey, all you cool cats and kittens, it’s Carole at Big Cat Rescue” before showing off some never-before-seen photographs and videos of daily life in the sanctuary. They even convinced her to wear a “haku lei” flower crown on her head – something she famously wore a lot during Tiger King. They couldn’t resist ending the prank by trolling her once more by asking her to remove her headwear for the last part, before changing their minds and getting her to put it back on again.

  • YouTuber BadlandsChugs dominates Nathan’s lemonade chug for 4th of July – Dexerto

YouTuber BadlandsChugs dominates Nathan’s lemonade chug for 4th of July Badlands Chugs/BandcampPopular YouTuber and competitive eater Badlands Booker (also known online as BadlandsChugs) absolutely dominated the first ever Lemonade chugging contest at Nathan’s annual 4th of July hot dog eating contest, adding to his legendary status in the process. If you’ve spent time on YouTube, there’s a decent chance you’ve stumbled upon Badlands Chugs before. You might know him from the famous video where he downs Big Smoke’s entire order from Cluckin Bell in GTA San Andreas. He’s also become infamous for drinking anything and everything fans challenge him to, and most of the time he does so without breaking a sweat. On July 4th at the annual Nathan’s Hot Dog eating contest though, he proved he isn’t just an internet sensation — he is a full-on human storm drain. Chug starts at 1:38 for mobile viewers. Football has the World Cup, Baseball has the World Series, and competitive eating has Nathan’s annual hot dog eating contest, where on the 4th of July men and women alike gather to see how many hot dogs it’s humanly possible to stuff into your face within 10 minutes. Badlands is no rookie to Nathan’s annual eating contest. He’s also an accomplished competitive eater besides being YouTube famous, and has been attending the festival for several years. This year though there was a new test of skill (or endurance, however you want to look at it) on the docket, and it was right up Booker’s alley — to see who could chug one gallon of Nathan’s Lemonade quickest. Now, if you’ve watched any of Badland’s videos before, you know he can throw back drinks with the best of them. But, his performance on July 4, 2021 only added to his legend, as he was able to down a gallon of lemonade in just 37 seconds. A GALLON OF LEMONADE! Eric “”Badlands”” Booker is your inaugural chug contest winner 👏 pic.twitter.com/2b86mL62e1 — ESPN (@espn) July 4, 2021 The other competitor, let’s be honest, didn’t stand a chance. But victory wasn’t a given, as Badlands got off to a bit of a slow start before he opened up the spillway and really started to go to work. You can literally see the lemonade disappear like it’s nothing once the floodgates are open, and Badlands even took some breaks before easily wrapping up while his opponent was still sipping away, and let out his trademark battle cry for the world to hear once it was all sealed up. While he dominated the inaugural lemonade chug — thereby setting the new record at 37 seconds — Badlands wasn’t able to repeat his success in the hot dog eating contest, falling short of Joey Chestnuts’ score of 76 hot dogs in 10 minutes. Remember, Badlands Chugs is a professional, so we cannot advise you to try chugging a gallon of lemonade in under a minute at home.

  • YouTuber baits Love Island Sherif & Ollie Williams with fake promo prank – Dexerto

YouTuber baits Love Island Sherif & Ollie Williams with fake promo prank YouTube: JaackMaate / ITVPopular YouTube comedian Jack ‘JaackMaate’ Dean revealed a sneaky prank where he got Love Island contestants Sherif & Ollie Williams to promote his channel by shouting out a fake product. JaackMate is one of the most popular YouTubers in the UK with over 1.2 million subscribers. He is known for his comedic videos, as well as his Happy Hour Podcast which has featured guests such as musician Example, KSI, True Geordie, and more. Fans of the personality know his love-hate relationship with British reality show Love Island, and during his May 11 upload, he got the last laugh by pranking some of the show’s most notorious participants. JaackMaate pranks Love Island contestants In his latest video, the British star revealed he had tricked participants Sherif and Ollie Williams into promoting a fake product. Using Johnson’s Baby Lotion, he created a “luxury cosmetic” called ‘JAQmaite’ moisturizing cream. The comedian explained he had spent two months running a Twitter account for his fake beauty brand. Making it seem further legitimate, he hilariously got fellow YouTuber and influencer Harmony Nice to make a testimonial video for his bogus website. Jack didn’t stop there – he even created a whole back catalog of fictional products, including hairspray and a bath bomb with the joke description “the most powerful bomb since Hiroshima” – oof. The British star then sent out offers to past LI contestants to promote the product. Sherif was the first to respond, and made a video describing how wonderful the cream was and how it was ‘unisex’. “It’s rare for me to encounter a cream that doesn’t clog up my pores,” the reality star exclaimed. The YouTube star broke into laughter, stunned that he actually read their instructions. “I literally can’t believe we got him to describe our moisturizer as unisex! Sorry, but has there ever been a moisturizer that isn’t unisex?” Months later, Jack finally got Ollie Williams to respond and take the deal. On April 19, he uploaded his testimony of the product, stating, “Really, really quality stuff. Makes my skin feel amazing!” The comedian laughed and said “Thank you, Ollie! I love JaackMaate too!” (Timestamp 00:33 for mobile users.) The YouTuber has notoriously mocked the reality show on his channel, pulling in millions of views by roasting past seasons. The personality comically summed up the program as “a TV show in which a load of supposed s**y singletons are thrown into a villa to see if they will mate.” Despite not getting everyone he wanted to, the comedian managed to nab two of the program’s most infamous contestants. If nothing else, the video is an eye-opening reminder that not all sponsored products are actually even tried by those promoting them.

YouTuber B Lou reveals TikTokers nearly quit Battle of the Platforms over rule concerns Instagram: brycehall/YouTube: Lou WopB Lou — half of popular reaction channel ZIAS! — has revealed that the YouTubers vs TikTokers Battle of the Platforms was nearly canceled just 30 minutes ahead of the event starting thanks to TikTokers’ concerns over the rules. The Battle of the Platforms was a natural progression from the influencer boxing that has become commonplace in recent years. With Logan Paul going from fighting KSI to Floyd Mayweather, and younger brother Jake gearing up for a fight against UFC legend Tyron Woodley, the spectacle has grown exponentially. So, Social Gloves put together a huge boxing event with YouTube stars facing off against their fresh-faced TikTok counterparts, and it proved a huge success, with viewers globally tuning in and celebrating (or booing) all of the creators. Here’s the full KO moment. Wow @liljarviss https://t.co/SgNiWuf3HZ — Dexerto (@Dexerto) June 13, 2021 The YouTube side of things won on the night overall, with just one TikToker claiming a victory (Vinnie Hacker over KSI’s younger brother, Deji), putting on a pretty good showing throughout. However, the fight might not have happened at all according to YouTuber B Lou, who was in attendance at the event. “Backstage, 30 minutes before the fight, the TikTokers were about to not fight,” he revealed. “They said it was about headgear. The YouTubers knew that they didn’t have the headgear, they were like ‘We haven’t been training like that.’ There really wasn’t about to be a fight tonight. That’s part of the reason why it was getting pushed back.” Timestamp 5:00 B Lou added that it “wasn’t in their contracts,” though it’s unclear how accurate this contractual issue is. It’s also unclear exactly which fighters were arguing against fighting without headgear. While B Lou simply refers to them as the TikTokers, it might not have been all of them but instead just a selection. It’s already been common knowledge that the Tanner Fox vs Ryland Storms fight was called off over the weight difference, but it seems that many more fights were being questioned just minutes prior to gloves touching.

YouTuber Attends and Breaks Down a Jake Paul and Team 10 Live Show Calling it a “Disaster” YouTube/Drew GoodenAt this point everyone knows about Jake Paul and his infamous vlogging channel on YouTube, but what you may not know is that he actually takes himself and his ‘Team 10’ crew around the US doing live shows. The first question you may ask is what kind of live show could a YouTuber who simply vlogs his daily life put on? Well thankfully, fellow YouTuber Drew Gooden was on hand to provide a detailed breakdown of the whole thing. And Gooden didn’t simply watch a few of his videos and do the standard ‘reaction’ – he actually spent his own money to attend one of these Team 10 shows in person. Thankfully, he simply went for one of the general attendance tickets, avoiding the VIP tickets which cost a whopping $1,143, with VIP including ‘1 selfie with Jake Paul’. More: FaZe Banks Bashes Jake Paul on Twitter for Making Fun of Alissa Violet on Stage – “Jake’s Actually Human Garbage” – The event took place in ‘The House of Blues’ in Disney Springs, Florida, an historic venue which has played host to many legendary names in Rock-n-Roll and blues over the years. But, that wasn’t exactly the performance provided by Jake Paul and Co, as Gooden explains. “[The DJ] kept asking every minute or so that people like his Facebook page, he also plugged his instagram about 9 times. Everyone on stage that wasn’t Jake Paul seemed very aware that nobody cared about them, because they are not Jake Paul. Because of this, they would come up with ways every 30 seconds or so to remind people that Jake Paul was here.” Almost two hours after the show had started, Jake Paul finally came out on stage. After a song and a half performed, the whole team return backstage and a pre-recorded clip rolled where they apparently created the next song to perform. Gooden also explains how the entire show was essentially filler, with very little actual musical content compared to amount of dead time. “In an effort to pass the time, Jake did this thing where he just kind of asked the crowd to scream, over and over again so ‘we could prove Orlando is the most lit city’.” For the next 10 minutes, the team apparently had a ‘dance party’, which entailed jumping around on stage to other people’s music. The show finished out with Jake Paul’s infamous song against teachers who teach math and english instead of “how to drive a Lambo”. Jake Paul also gave a lengthy monologue before finishing completely, in which he apparently said that if you are feeling sad, you should just stop feeling sad and be happy instead. “This is the second time I’ve spent money on a Jake Paul thing in order to make a video about how bad it is, and I’m starting to think that maybe I’m the one getting played here.” You can watch Drew Gooden’s full video on Jake Paul and Team 10’s Live show below.

YouTuber AzzyLand claims SSSniperwolf “stole her life” YouTube: Nerd City/SSSniperwolfControversial YouTuber SSSniperwolf has come under fire again. While accusations of stealing content are common, YouTuber AzzyLand, along with Nerd City, broke down how SSSniperwolf stole more than that from her. SSSniperwolf has been heavily criticized for a lot over her years of internet stardom. Accusations of faking gameplay on Twitch and aggressively borrowing content ideas on YouTube are just a few of the major dramas she’s been entangled in. More recently, a months-long feud between SSSniperwolf and JacksFilms came to a head when she Doxxed her fellow YouTuber via Instagram Live. She’s since apologized for the incident but the backlash has yet to end. In the midst of all this heat, AzzyLand, another reaction content creator, has come forward to voice her own issues with SSSniperwolf. In a collaborative video on Nerd City’s channel titled ‘SSSniperwolf stole her life’, Azzyland levels allegations of harassment, intimidation, and imitation against SSSniperwolf. The video does show numerous confirmed examples of SSSniperwolf uploading videos with incredibly similar thumbnails and titles to AzzyLand’s. All of which are uploaded weeks, months, and sometimes years after her originals. It’s not just content though. Both Nerd City and AzzyLand accuse SSSniperwolf of imitating her accent, mannerisms, and cosplays with numerous images seeming to back up the claim. To cap this off, AzzyLand also asserts that SSSniperwolf leveled false accusations that she is a copycat, and prompted fans to harass her. “She created the narrative that you had cloned her when it was the other way around,” Nerd City asks. “Yes and now she’s kind of like, encouraging people to hate on me,” AzzyLand elaborated, explaining that certain people had even told her to commit suicide. The “near-constant” vitriol from SSSniperwolf fans, encouraged by the creator herself as shown in certain clips, has deterred AzzyLand from engaging with social media. “it’s become like hell. I can’t avoid it, even if I try,” she explained. AzzyLand has acknowledged that some of her own fans are a little zealous in her defense. “I do have fans who do kind of instigate because they’re firing back at what her fans are doing,” she admitted. “I tell them not to.” She explained that she thinks it’s “bad karma” for her fans to do so, and that “the truth always comes out”. “I thought it would come out on its own but sometimes you have to stand up for yourself,” AzzyLand replied when asked why she was coming forward now.

  • YouTuber arrested after crossing US to threaten Google for deleting channel – turns out it was his wife – Dexerto

YouTuber arrested after crossing US to threaten Google for deleting channel – turns out it was his wife Mountain View Police DepartmentYouTuber Kyle Long has been arrested, after driving across the entire U.S. to confront Google because his channel was deleted – but it was actually his wife who had terminated the channel. The 33 year old from Maine, drove all the way to Mountain View, California, and was arrested only a few miles from the Googleplex – with three baseball bats in his vehicle, according to NBC. Police became aware of a possible threat after a report from an Iowa gas station which he had stopped at, claiming that he had vandalized their public restroom. The gas station’s owners decided not to press charges, but police became concerned about Long’s intentions for his trip. 500Long told a state trooper that he was angry with Google for deleting his YouTube channel, on which he apparently posted videos about how to get more views and make more money on the platform. Police became ‘nervous’ about Long’s intentions, stating in a Facebook post that “[Long] had stated if his meeting with Google personnel did not go well, he was going to resort to physical violence.” Police from Waterville, Maine, notified Mountain View police, who made a high-risk car stop only a few miles away from the Googleplex, and arrested Long for making criminal threats. In a surprising twist, Long’s father told NBC that it was in fact his son’s wife who had deleted the YouTube channel, not Google at all. “His wife took it down as soon as he put it up. It was dumb. It was crazy. He showed it to me and it was the most bizarre thing. YouTuber arrested for throwing buckets of poo at train passengers YouTube: YaNikeA Belgian YouTuber has been arrested after throwing buckets of “diverse substances,” including poo, at passengers on a train. It’s not uncommon to see influencers orchestrating the occasionally wild stunt in the name of going viral. Take MrBeast, for instance — he didn’t become YouTube’s most-subscribed creator without literally burying himself alive for views, on top of other wacky content. However, other creators have gotten far less positive press for their wild antics. In 2023, a YouTuber came under fire after ‘fleeing’ from Japanese police in his bid to cross Japan without spending any money on public transit. The latest over-the-top stunt going viral on social media is also being labeled pretty ‘crappy’ after what one man did with the aim of becoming a social media star. YouTuber charged with assault and battery for poo bucket prank Belgian police have arrested a YouTuber by the name ‘YaNike’ for throwing buckets of “diverse substances,” including “paint, feces [and] food,” on metro passengers in Brussels for his channel. Videos can be found on YaNike’s channel showing the YouTuber filling up a bucket with various elements like beer, water, and dog feces. YaNike then hops on a train, walks up to an unsuspecting passenger, and empties the bucket’s contents right on their heads before making his escape. YaNike was arrested on January 2 on charges of assault and battery, along with damaging property, as per reports from Politico. A spokesperson for the prosecutor’s office claimed that the YouTuber confessed to the incident, saying in a press release, “Videos of these events were posted on social networks, with the aim of getting as many ‘likes’ as possible.” YaNike has had two complaints filed against him as a result of his ‘pranks’ — one from one of his victims, onto whom he reportedly flung a bucket of poo and oil, as well as one from Brussels’ public transport company, STIB. YaNike is just the latest influencer to face legal consequences for his behavior following the arrest of Kick streamer Johnny Somali, who was arrested after disrupting a restaurant in Japan in late 2023.

YouTuber arrested after eating protected bat species in deleted video YOUTUBE: Gin Zap Bep Nua NuaA YouTuber has been arrested after filming herself eating a protected bat species in a stomach-churning video. Phonchanok Srisunaklua was arrested in Thailand, and is currently facing a jail sentence of five years and a fine up to $13,800 after eating a bowl of bat soup. The Thai YouTuber uploaded a mukbang-style video to her channel Gin Zap Bep Nua Nua, which translates to “eat spicy and delicious” in English. In the video, Phonchanook filmed herself indulging in a bowl of soup containing Lesser Asiatic yellow bats, a protected species. She reportedly compared them to “eating raw meat,” and ripped the animals apart, before dipping them in a spicy sauce. At one point, she held up an entire bat to the camera, adding that “it has teeth,” and then crunched on the bones which she described as “soft.” Shortly after the controversial video was uploaded to Phonchanok’s YouTube channel, comments were filled with viewers slamming her, amid concerns about the risk of new pandemic viruses. Dangerous health risks of eating bat Pattaraphon Manee-on, who works at Thailand’s Department of National Parks, told the Daily Mail that he was “shocked” by the video, as eating bat can present dangerous health risks. “Because the incident should not happen both in Thailand and around the world, it is very risky behavior, especially as bats have a lot of pathogens,” he said. “There is no proof that the hot water temperature will actually kill the germs. Just touching the saliva, blood and the skin is considered a risk. Besides the concern about the disease in bats, this woman could be guilty of breaking the Preservation and Protection and Wildlife Act, B.E. 2019, because bats are protected animals.” According to TMZ, Phonchanok was arrested for possession of a protected wildlife carcass and for violating the Computer-Related Crimes Act of 2007. The YouTuber initially denied the charges, but has since posted a video apologizing for her actions, stating that she would refrain from eating bats again.

Interview: YouTuber Archie Hamilton explains why esports is the future of racing Instagram: ArchieHamiltonRacingAfter Supercar Blondie beat Craig David in a head-to-head racing simulation on the new e-series “Beat Your Heroes,” racing driver and YouTuber Archie Hamilton has become the next internet star to take on the challenge. On February 27, fans of Archie Hamilton and First Dates host Fred Sirieix were able to watch them go head to head in a virtual F1 race which is part of a four-part VELO ESERIES, presented by ex-Top Gear host and TV presenter, Rory Reid. The series, launched on February 6, sees top celebrities go head-to-head against internet sensations. Each series is split into three episodes, including a masterclass episode with the celebrities showcasing their craft. VELO fans can then participate in qualifiers to join the virtual grid before the final ‘Beat Your Heroes’ episode of the live-streamed race event which sees fans race against the celebrities. Speaking to Dexerto, Archie revealed that while Fred Sirieix was competitive, he still had an advantage as someone with years of professional racing experience. To make it a little more interesting, and to make the race a little more equal, he was made to eat hot chilis: “My mouth is still on fire!” Despite the fiery obstacle, and after a grueling race, Archie still came out on top, but not without significant competition from Fred who led in the first few laps before getting stuck in a corner, unable to drive himself out. Archie was especially excited to get involved with the e-series, explaining: “Esports is only going one way, it’s only getting bigger and better it’s allowing more people to get involved from their homes. VELO getting involved is only a benefit for everyone. Their partnership with McLaren is mega.” For Archie this is just one aspect of his already incredible career, having begun racing cars in 2007 when he won his Formula Ford debut at Silverstone. After meeting car YouTubers through teaching them to get their racing license, he was convinced to start his own YouTube channel in 2016. “If you told me 5 or 6 years ago you’re gonna be doing stuff like this,’ I’d be like ‘you must be joking!’” Archie said, adding “I’d never get the chance to do the VELO e-series if I wasn’t doing YouTube, so for me, it brings so many opportunities.” Since then, Archie has gone viral driving a LaFerrari in Croatia, got to interview Lewis Hamilton, and built up a seriously impressive collection of cars, his favorite right now is his Audi RS6: “It’s one of those cars that I say to myself if you get out of your car and you look back and you’re like how the hell am I driving something like that?” To begin with, coping with the attention online was a challenge: “When I first started I was like I can’t deal with it.” But after persevering and seeing “every sort of comment under the sun,” he has finetuned his strategy and ensuring that he not only does what he is passionate about, but that his audience gets the most out of his content. “It’s just so important to follow what you’re passionate about because it will come across on camera very quickly if you’re doing something just because you like the idea of it.” Archie’s passion for cars has evidently come across online, and he has now earned 317,000 subscribers on YouTube, and more than 200,000 Instagram followers. Despite a global health crisis, Archie is optimistic about the future, seeking to potentially grow his collection with a new McLaren, as well as racing a Lamborghini across Europe in the summer. The VELO ESERIES has been brought to fans by VELO as part of its ongoing global partnership with McLaren Racing. All content is being streamed on VELO’s Instagram and YouTube channels from January to May.

It’s on top numerous allegations laid by her former partners, including grooming minors. Anna Campbell, who has over 400,000 subscribers on YouTube, has been accused — among other things — of assaulting two of her ex-girlfriends, as well as getting them addicted to drugs and grooming minors. Kaylee Jade, who got together with Campbell in 2019, released clips of the abuse she received across their relationship, on top of a 41-minute Instagram video detailing the abuse. She claimed Campbell “manipulated” her in their relationship, as well as physically assaulted her. Kaylee appeared in numerous videos on Campbell’s channel, which remained up on the platform for months despite her requests to take them down. “My abuser is still profiting off of videos that I am in that I asked her to take down, but she manipulated me into keeping them up for my OnlyFans,” Kaylee said. Fans also shared messages with Campbell sending sexually explicit messages to minors, some as young as 15. https://twitter.com/nightmarebabyy/status/1405643378516058114 “I was dating a pedophile. I am going to pass out, I have no words, I’m speechless, my heart just dropped,” Jade added. “You are a predator, you are a pedophile. You need to be deplatformed.” Taylor Lynn, another one of Anna Campbell’s ex-girlfriends, said she “stole the innocence of many young women with no remorse.” She also called Campbell a “rapist”, claiming one night they had sex while Lynn was unable to consent because she was “blackout drunk”. Campbell made a post on Instagram, which has since expired, saying she was aware of the allegations, but didn’t want to address them publicly. anna stole the innocence of many young women with no remorse. i’m honestly just lucky to be alive. — Taylor Lynn (@iamtaylorlynn) June 17, 2021 “I don’t want to add fuel to the fire so from this point on I’m just going to stay quiet and hope that eventually [Kaylee] sees what she’s doing is only adding fuel to the fire for both of us, not just me,” she said. “I feel like I’m living in a nightmare, but at this point I can’t do anything but sit back and be silent while she continues to go off and expose more and more.” The apology has led to more people coming forward with their experiences with the YouTuber, including more allegations of verbal assault and grooming. Campbell previously denied the grooming allegations in a September 2020 video. Anna Campbell’s channel on YouTube, as well as her profiles on Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter are still active at the time of writing.

FIFA, having started his channel nearly seven years ago with FIFA 13. Since then, he has dabbled in real life videos as well as FIFA but has also been involved in both of the YouTube boxing events that have run so far, calling out Joe Weller and featuring on the undercard in last year’s event headlined by Olajide ‘KSI‘ Olatunji and Logan Paul. Then, on September 19, Jake Paul put out a poll on Twitter to ask fans who he should fight before his brother, Logan Paul, takes on KSI in November. He directly addressed FaZe Clan’s Isiah ‘Sensei’ Ocasio-Pantoja, Yousef ‘Fousey’ Erakat, rapper Soulja Boy, MMA fighter Dillon Danis, YouTuber Jeff Wittek and, of course, Gib. Evidently, Gib is the chosen one and has now been gearing up for a fight with the recently-wedded Jake Paul, taking to the stage during the London press conference to address Jake Paul face-to-face. With fans chanting “we want Gib”, the YouTuber was brought up on stage by a beaming Eddie Hearn, immediately dashing towards Jake Paul’s side of the stage telling him “you’re scared!” He was dragged off stage by security, with Jake then asking why he was running away and to come back up on stage, but it seemed clear already that the fight is being set up. Following the presser, Gib was interviewed by Sky Sports Boxing, giving an amped-up interview explaining why he wants to fight the younger Paul brother. “There’s a handful of people who can fight in YouTube boxing,” he said. “There’s only a small pool, and I’m at the top. • YouTuber Andrew Callaghan taking indefinite break amid sexual assault allegations – Dexerto

YouTuber Andrew Callaghan taking indefinite break amid sexual assault allegations YouTube: All Gas No BreaksWith multiple accusations of sexual assault levelled against YouTuber Andrew Callaghan, the Channel 5 journalist has broken his silence to hit back at the alleged victims’ requests for compensation. Multiple allegations of sexual misconduct from Callaghan surfaced on January 12 following a viral post on TikTok from Caroline Elise, a supposed victim. A handful of women spoke up after seeing her initial accusations, also chiming in with their stories of purported sexual assault at the hands of the 25-year-old content creator. Various women involved accused Callaghan of forcing himself on them, coercing them to do things they weren’t “proud of,” and in one instance, even allegedly kissing a minor when he was 22. One day on from these posts all gaining traction across social media and Callaghan broke his silence indirectly. Through a legal representative at first, his views on the matter were conveyed to TMZ, claiming he is “devastated” by the accusations. He then followed up directly on YouTube with a near five-minute video response on January 15. “Conversations about pressure and consent are extremely important and Andrew wants to have these conversations, so he can continue to learn and grow,” he legal rep said at first. Furthermore, the legal spokesperson also honed in on a financial aspect seemingly bubbling behind the scenes. According to Callaghan’s team, various alleged victims raising their voices are also seeking financial compensation in the midst of this outpouring. “While every dynamic is open to interpretation and proper communication is critical from all those involved, repeated requests for money should not be part of these conversations.” TMZ reports Caroline Elise requested compensation at an opportune moment “just minutes” before Callaghan’s ‘This Place Rules’ documentary premiered on HBO. She allegedly asked for a certain amount out of his “fat check” from the television network. Callaghan seemingly denied this request, which then led to her speaking up on TikTok. Since the discourse became public, Caroline Elise has made her TikTok account private. Chiming in with his own direct comments a few days later, Callaghan uploaded a video titled ‘In Response’ on January 15. “I would like to start by thanking every single person that’s come out in the past week to speak about different ways in which my behavior has made them feel uncomfortable or pressured during a sexual situation. “Up until this point, I didn’t really realize I had this pattern that had affected multiple people. I’d also like to apologize for my silence. I think when this stuff first came out, I was in a state of denial and shock. I was just riding the high from my movie that came out, then within 48 hours I was denounced by my closest collaborators. I spiraled into a mental health crisis.” While Callaghan didn’t want to make excuses for his admittedly out of line behavior, he did place an emphasis on on alcoholic influence, claiming he’s “going to join [Alcoholics Anonymous]” right away and “start therapy sessions immediately.” In light of these lifestyle changes, he’s also looking to take an indefinite break from the spotlight. That means no new content and no hosting videos for a good while as the Channel 5 leader takes “a serious step back from public life. I really think I need to do some serious work on myself,” he said. “I just want to express my complete sympathy, respect, and support for anyone who I’ve done wrong by and be fully accountable for everything I’ve done. I’ve always taken no for an answer, I’ve never overstepped that line. “A lot of the things that have been said online about me are not true. A lot of things are missing important contextual information that I think would change people’s interpretations, but I’m not here to invalidate anyone’s experience. I hope young men in particular can use my mistakes to learn.”

YouTuber allegedly visited by private investigators after posting Borderlands 3 leaks [UPDATED] YouTube: SupMatto / Gearbox Software / 2K GamesUPDATE 5:30PM PST August 7 In a statement to video game site IGN, Take-Two Interactive confirmed SupMatto had been visited by private investigators on its behalf, stating: “Take Two and 2K take the security and confidentiality of trade secrets very seriously. The action we’ve taken is the result of a 10-month investigation and a history of this creator profiting from breaking our policies, leaking confidential information about our product, and infringing our copyright.” A YouTuber claims he was allegedly visited by private investigators at the behest of Take-Two Interactive after posting leaks from the upcoming looter shooter Borderlands 3. After previously sharing leaked info for the much anticipated Borderlands 3 on his YouTube channel, ‘SupMatto’ claims private investigators showed up to his house. The YouTuber posted a video on August 6 where he went into detail about the alleged situation, claiming Take-Two Interactive wasn’t too happy with things he’d posted. Investigators allegedly showed up at SupMatto’s house SupMatto detailed exactly what happened in the unexpected interview with the investigators and claimed that they questioned him for almost an hour. “On Thursday July 25th, private investigators showed up to my home, trespassed on my private property, and questioned me. I was very tense as many of you could imagine, having two people in suits you don’t know showing up to your home,” he said. “As lawyers have said, I probably shouldn’t have spoke to them. But I did, because I don’t feel I have anything to hide. They questioned me to various things relating to my channel. They told me they were from Take-Two Interactive. I think we spoke for 30 to 40 minutes.” On April 29, the official Borderlands YouTube channel posted the reveal of the ‘ECHOcast’ Twitch extension for its upcoming game, which allows players to receive exclusive items while watching streamers play. During the video, the SupMatto claimed the name of one of their testing accounts could be seen. He further clarified: “This wasn’t found by me, and was posted on various platforms, like Reddit and other social medias.” A post on Reddit with the test account linked is still live as of August 7. One user named ‘Commandant_Obvious’ posted: “Doing some snooping around I’ve found that the channel has 35 followers with similarly gibberish names but no videos or clips, so we can assume that this is either a test stream for the Echocast addon or the stream that was used to make the example overlay for the video.” The Borderlands YouTuber posted screenshots from test streams that had gone up, before he allegedly received seven copyright strikes on his channel. He pointed out that they were manually filed by the publisher. SupMatto also alleged that maybe 20 minutes after he was interviewed by the investigators, his Discord server and account were terminated and he received a message that stated ‘your account was involved in selling, promoting, or distributing cheats, hacks, or cracked accounts.’ While it is currently unknown if Take-Two is going to be pushing the situation further, the YouTuber has said he’s going on hiatus to decompress, and has closed his Twitter account: “I am absolutely on hiatus, while I figure out what I want to do.” The whole incident seems to have rattled SupMatto, and might have even soured the avid fan on the series. “I don’t know if I want to play the game. I don’t know if I want to make videos. I’ve played the games religiously for 7 straight years, so it’s time to chill out” he said. Dexerto has reached out to Take-Two Interactive for comment regarding the allegations.

  • YouTuber almost cries after killing Minecraft cat in the worst way possible – Dexerto

YouTuber almost cries after killing Minecraft cat in the worst way possible Instagram: FreyaNightingale/MinecraftA YouTuber was left on the verge of tears when she accidentally led her pet cat in Minecraft to an unfortunate end. Despite being released back in 2009, Minecraft has returned to popularity in recent weeks with popular YouTubers like Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg and streamers like Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek trying their hand at it. The sandbox adventure title can lead to plenty of hijinks in single and multiplayer action – as it ultimately depends on where your imagination takes you. More often than not, however, players will get led to danger and it is there where they can lose everything in the blink of an eye – even the most precious of pets. 600During her August 8 video, YouTuber Freya Nightingale had been sprucing up her Minecraft realm when she opted to go mining. A few minutes in, though, she discovered that her cat ‘Bwahh’ had been following her instead of remaining at home. The YouTuber opted against making him sit and stay behind in the mine shaft, so the pet continued to follow on. She ultimately uncovered lava and quickly covered one block. Yet, as she carried on digging, the cat stumbled right into another uncovered block of lava – prompting its immediate death. “Oh my god! Oh my god!” she called out, distressed by how the cat had fallen directly into the lava. The YouTuber couldn’t offer up anything other than “Oh my god!” for a few moments as she tried to process what had just unfolded. When she finally found some words, Freya added: “Guys, I could not have prevented that – I couldn’t have prevented that. Oh my god, I’m so upset, I actually could cry. I actually feel like I could cry right now. Oh my god,” before putting her head in her hands. “I can’t believe it, I can’t believe it – I can’t. Oh my god, I’m so upset.” However, it wasn’t all bad news for the YouTuber as she was able to adopt a second cat later in the stream which she aptly named Bwahh V.2. YouTuber Alex Wassabi announces break from platform after 15 years YouTube: Wasabi ProductionsAfter fifteen years on the platform, Alex Wassabi, the face of popular YouTube channel Wassabi Productions, has announced in a new video that he plans to take an extended break from the channel in order to focus on himself and re-evaluate the direction of the channel. 29-year-old Alex admitted that the reason for his break was that he was feeling burnt out. “I feel less creative,” he explained. “I don’t have the same urge to create that I used to.” He continued: “I want to take a break to just be myself and figure out who I am and what I want to do with this channel… and even if I want to be a YouTube creator anymore.” Admitting that he had felt “scared” to take a break throughout his fifteen-year YouTube career, Wassabi explained that he always felt the urge to keep going because he felt like people depended on him. “But now that I’m older I’ve realised that I can’t spend my life trying to make people happy,” Wassabi said. “It’s what I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid but that’s not mentally healthy.” The video then shifted to a series of old clips showing just how far Wasabi Productions has come since it’s conception in January 2006, with several clips showing early videos involving Alex and the channel’s original founder, Roi Fabbito. Wassabi Productions as fans know it was created in January 2006, with Alex Burris comingon board as a co-creator for the channel around that time. It was then that Wassabi Productions born with Roi and Alex charming millions of viewers with sketches and challenges every week with their popular Wassabi Wednesdays segment. When Roi decided to leave the channel in 2016 for undisclosed reasons, Alex continued to run Wassabi Productions solo, with various guest stars moving to replace Roi. The channel as it stands has 11.5 million subscribers and over 4 billion combined views. Breaking down in tears, Burris ended the video on an emotional but positive note, saying that he was “excited” for his break and that it was “long overdue”. He then signed off with the slogan fans had grown to love, noting that it “might be the last time” he ever says it: “Until next time, do me a favor and don’t forget to remember: if you’re not smiling, you’re doing it wrong.”

  • YouTuber AJayII finally updates concerned fans after three-month absence – Dexerto

YouTuber AJayII finally updates concerned fans after three-month absence YouTube: AJayIIYouTuber AJayII is finally back after a three-month absence, and she put the rumors about her health and wellbeing to bed, claiming it was nothing more than a break. AJayII is one of the most popular music reviewers on YouTube. She has more than 700,000 subscribers and often gets hundreds of thousands of views on her videos. But strangely, she stopped posting on social media and producing content for several months. Rumors about her health and wellbeing spread like wildfire, and naturally, people were concerned. It was all speculation, and not everyone believed it. Someone claimed they contacted her, and she said she was fine and wanted to take some time off to relax and “play League of Legends.” Of course, that was never confirmed. But the good news is that she’s finally back, and naturally, that means she’s alive and well. AJayII posted a new video on her YouTube Channel called ‘2021 Grammy Awards Winners,’ in which she reacts to the winners and shares her thoughts. But before she dove into it, she took a moment to tell fans where she’s been. “Happy new year. I missed y’all so much. I missed y’all,” she said. “Where the hell have I been, you asked? I took a break, as simple as that. But we are back, honeys. We are back.” And that’s all there is to it. It turns out she was burnt out and just needed a break. A social media detox is good and perhaps necessary from time to time. In hindsight, there might have been a bit of an overreaction. But it goes to show how much her fans care about her, which is nice. In the end, though, we’re all just glad to see her back and doing what she does best.

  • YouTuber AJayII’s fans concerned she’s missing amid social media hiatus – Dexerto

YouTuber AJayII’s fans concerned she’s missing amid social media hiatus YouTube: AjayIIFans of YouTube music review AJayII have been growing concerned as she’s not uploaded a video or posted on social media in a few weeks. Reviewing things on YouTube – be it music, a television show, moments in sports, food, or a book – has become quite popular with viewers over the last few years. In the case of music, there are a few different styles. Some reviewers will get deep into the production of a track or album, while others will dance along and then just give a score at the end of it. AJayII has become one of YouTube’s most popular music reviewers, amassing over 700,000 subscribers after a few years of giving her thoughts. However, she’s been on a bit of a hiatus, and fans have been growing concerned. The YouTuber last uploaded a video on December 29, reviewing her favorite songs of 2020, with her last tweet coming almost 10 days earlier on December 20. Read More: What is the Dave Team on TikTok? – As AJayII hasn’t posted since then, and we’re into February at the time of writing, some fans have been bombarding her socials and YouTube comments with posts, asking that she give them a sign that she’s ok. “Where are you girl, please come back,” one posted in all caps. Are you okay, you haven’t posted in a long time?!? I’m genuinely concerned,” added another. “Thinking about u everyday,” read another reply. https://twitter.com/davibythebeach/status/1354871930239778826 https://twitter.com/Im_not_Pls_HELP/status/1358731254116478981 Of course, given her hiatus, rumors have spread, with some fans creating wild speculation about her wellbeing and whereabouts. Though, nothing has been confirmed. A post on the BreatheHeavy forum from late January claimed that someone had been in contact with the YouTuber and that she was fine, spending her time playing League of Legends. Again though, this is unconfirmed. Obviously, it could be the case that the YouTuber is simply taking a break and detoxing from social media. We’ll just have to wait and see, but fans will be hoping that, given the growing concern, she posts an update at some point soon.

  • YouTuber airrack strands himself on deserted island until he hits 1 million subs – Dexerto

YouTuber airrack strands himself on deserted island until he hits 1 million subs airrack/instagramMost people don’t set out to intentionally strand themselves on a desert island, but that’s exactly what YouTube streamer Eric ‘airrack’ Decker has done in an attempt to reach 1 million subscribers, and you better believe he’s broadcasting his experience throughout the whole thing. Airrack rose to fame by posting vlog, challenge, and prank videos on his self-titled channel, which had over 800,000 subs before he even started his stay on the island. He’s collabed with Jake Paul several times in the past, which certainly doesn’t hurt when it comes to exposure, but it hasn’t been enough to get him to the 1 million mark. In an effort to finally reach that threshold, Decker has actually stranded himself on a desert island over Christmas. Over the years we’ve seen all kinds of ploys from YouTubers to try and boost their sub count, but never anything quite like intentionally turning yourself into Tom Hanks from Castaway before. Using the hashtag #saveairrack, the YouTuber is begging fans to help him get to 1 million subs, or “he might never make it off of the island.” “My life is a living nightmare, please go to saveairrack.com so I can get off of this godforsaken place,” the streamer begged in a video posted before the live stream began. Sticking to his word, he has indeed streamed his experience on the island, which does indeed seem “deserted” but does have plenty of plants and food to eat, as long as you like nothing but bananas and coconuts. Other activities include a bit of exploration, plenty of fishing and chaotic video chats with all of the fans helping him in his quest for 1 million subs. While streaming on Christmas Day 2020, airrack is closer than ever before to 1 million subs and getting back to civilization, currently sitting just over 954,000 subs at the time of writing. “I’m pretty tired, but we’ve been grinding,” Decker told viewers on Dec. 25. “We are not leaving until I reach 1 million.” You can watch along with airrack on the stream above, and while getting just under 50,000 subs might seem like a tall task, at the start of the challenge he was only at around 800,000. At this pace, he should be getting out of there before the end of the year (hopefully). With much of the world unable to travel this Christmas, spending the day on your own island doesn’t seem like too bad of a deal. Being trapped there by your sub count is another story entirely though, but at least there seem to be plenty of bananas.

  • YouTuber Airrack surprises David Dobrik with 100 Dobrik clones to celebrate return – Dexerto

YouTuber Airrack surprises David Dobrik with 100 Dobrik clones to celebrate return Instagram: airrackDavid Dobrik has made his YouTube return after over a year away and, despite criticism of his return, good friend Airrack decided to celebrate in classic Dobrik style. Dobrik stopped posting his famous vlogs to YouTube after LA shut down following the global health situation. His ordeal became much worse throughout 2021 as sexual assault allegations were made against former Vlog Squad member Durte Dom, as well as it being revealed that he had caused a near-fatal injury to his friend Jeff Wittek with an excavator. That said, there are still a huge legion of fans excited to see Dobrik return, including Airrack who has seen monumental growth himself throughout 2020 and 2021. Airrack has forced himself into the circles of top influencers as a fearless YouTuber who regularly plays pranks on the biggest names, including his first meeting with Dobrik which saw him sneak his way into the vlog. Dobrik is known for pranking his friends and putting them in bizarre situations, so Airrack decided to replicate that by hiring 100 David lookalikes, who he wanted to recreate his iconic chuckle after everything he said. So, he hired all of the clones and brought them to Dobrik’s new home, with a clearly nervous David absolutely mindblown when he saw the large group stood at the bottom of the stairs. After several moments of speechlessness and pure shock, David finally exclaimed “Bro, get the f**k out of here!” while his clones laughed on. “Are you f**king kidding me?!” Eventually, he thanked Airrack but told him that “every time you have something, it’s above and beyond.” David eventually pranked his friends with the 100 Dobrik clones and even orchestrated them to wake up his friend and housemate Ilya, who didn’t look too impressed. Perhaps one David Dobrik is enough for now.

  • YouTuber airrack sneaks a $100k pink Yacht into Logan Paul’s pool – Dexerto

YouTuber airrack sneaks a $100k pink Yacht into Logan Paul’s pool YouTube: Airrack / Wikimedia: Erik DrostYouTuber airrack is known for his crazy antics and ‘sneaking in’ videos, but his latest challenge – sneaking his $100,000 yacht into Logan Paul’s pool – might just be his most ambitious yet. In the second episode of his ‘yacht series’, airrack – real name Eric – attempts to sneak his $100,000, 27ft yacht into the backyard pool of YouTuber Logan Paul without him noticing. Having won the yacht from Patty Mayo and towing it all the way from Portland to Los Angeles, he then painted the boat bright pink and wrote “Sub 2 AIRRACK” on the side. Although the initial list of target houses comprised of the Sway House, Hype House, and Logan Paul’s house, it quickly became clear that the logistics of the first two houses meant they were non-starters for the project. Sneaking a 27ft yacht into Logan Paul’s pool This meant that Eric had to go forward with his most difficult plan; Sneaking his 27ft Yacht into Logan Paul’s pool. Despite the insanity of this prank, it’s not the first time Logan has been Eric’s target. Given that this requires an industrial crane, the bill for this video came to nearly $15k, though he did say he’d “happily empty his bank account to make these videos” so this may be only the first of many big-budget pranks we see from Eric. With measurements taken and a crane company confirmed, the day arrived. Eric described the stress as “comparable to graduating college or hitting a million subscribers on YouTube… not that I would know what either of those feels like!” “I’m not sure the crane is strong enough” As the crane begins to lift the boat, he does get a little concerned and admits he’s “not even sure the crane is strong enough to lift up the boat” after being asked by one of Logan’s roommates whether he had drained the fluids from the boat (he had not). Eventually, after a few tense moments, the boat touches down in the pool. Having been woken up to discover a yacht in his back garden, Logan was surprisingly calm, dismissing Eric and “going back to bed” – evidently living with YouTubers desensitizes people to crazy pranks such as this. Despite the massive bill and tense moments, it seems the work was all worth it as they threw a “yacht party” in Logan’s pool. With more yacht pranks in the pipeline, it seems we’ll be seeing more of the hot pink $100k yacht on airrack’s channel.

On May 10, Airrack uploaded a TikTok video revealing how he snuck into an NBA game by impersonating one of the players. Airrack goes viral after sneaking into NBA game In the upload, Airrack shares each step he took to gain access to the Crypto Arena by impersonating LA Lakers star Austin Reeves due to their similarities. “I’m just going to pretend to be him. I rented his exact car, replicated his most common pre-game outfits, and most importantly, changed my eye color from blue to brown,” he explained. His car was checked over by security as they went to drop Airrack off, and the YouTuber made it through the metal detector effortlessly before just walking straight to the court. The video quickly went viral, amassing over 5.4 million views and over a thousand comments in less than a week’s time. Fans were quick to share their thoughts in the comments as well. “Bro boutta have the real Austin Reaves escorted by security,” one replied. • YouTuber Airrack reveals how he went from 0 to 1m subscribers in a year – Dexerto

YouTuber Airrack reveals how he went from 0 to 1m subscribers in a year YouTube: AirrackIn 2020, Eric “Airrack” Decker proved that it is still possible to make a name for yourself on YouTube within a short space of time, making way for new talent to get recognized. Between January and December of last year, during a global health crisis, Airrack went from zero to 1 million subscribers. Despite this extraordinary feat, his ambitions are even bigger for 2021. In 2019, Airrack was just Eric Decker, a video producer in his early twenties from Georgia, who dreamed of becoming a fully-fledged YouTuber, and he simply decided that 2020 was the year he would do that, setting himself the goal of 1 million subscribers by 2021. “I always wanted to try to do YouTube, so why not set the most audacious goal possible,” he told Dexerto in an exclusive interview. “The goal was like proof that it’s still possible to run the entire channel just to see if YouTube is in fact too saturated or if it’s still possible to make it on the platform in 2020.” Evidently it is still possible; In April, his most viewed video “I Bought Logan Paul’s $90,000 Couches” blew up, and currently has 2.5 million views. By August, Eric’s channel had already reached half a million subscribers and earned the attention of the Paul brothers and even David Dobrik. Then in September, Airrack posted what he says is his favorite video so far — but also his worst experience. Read More: Why is Corpse Husband so successful? – The YouTuber attempted to steal an $800,000 private island from none other than Mr Beast himself, and successfully planted a flag in the ground on the beach. But it didn’t go as smoothly as he’d hoped. “We got stuck 200 miles off the coast of America… we genuinely thought we were going to die. Iit was a really stupid idea. We went out there with a 1 engine boat. Everyone was telling us not to do it and we did it, and then the boat basically broke in the middle of the ocean and we had no way of leaving. “We had to pay $4,000 and max out a credit card to get a private jet to pick us up because there are no airplanes out there. I mean it was misery but looking back it’s one of those stories I will tell my grandkids. It’s one of the craziest things we’ve ever done.” This also became the influence for his final challenge of the “worst best year” of Eric’s life: stranding himself on a deserted island until he hit his goal. While he was thankful to get off the island where he slept on the sand every night, and amid sleet showers, Eric said his fans are the reason he succeeded: “I think I have subconsciously created a fan base that is crazy and they’ll do anything because I am crazy and will do anything.” His “Save Airrack” campaign resulted in over 100,000 sign-ups on his website and 2 million link clicks. One crazy fan from Bulgaria drove a massive 30,000 subscribers to Airrack’s YouTube channel and won a collaboration with him as a result, although of course, that will have to wait. Read More: How to use new Hive Social app – Meanwhile, a collaboration between Airrack and Mr Beast is in the pipeline, and with Eric now deep into the YouTube community, collaborations with even more high-profile names are a strong likelihood. “The people that were once your inspiration become some of your best friends, it’s the coolest thing,” Eric said. He now lives with YouTuber George Janko and other creators in North Hollywood in what he jokingly described as the “really really hype house.” What next for Airrack? Eric said that his goal was initially to reach 20 million subscribers in five years, but after the past year’s success, he thinks he can do better — his new mission is “to become one of the biggest YouTubers on planet earth.” In 2021, Eric will continue to push out as much groundbreaking content as possible, which he says is part of the key to his success: “When you stop uploading is when you lose… keep making content, and don’t lose yourself in this rat race we’re all in.” On top of that, he wants to focus on other platforms too in order to build up his brand, eventually breaking into the top 20 YouTube creators in the world. Eric predicts that “in 5 years there will be probably 10-20 YouTube channels that have 20-50 million subscribers and they’re going to be personality based. 50% of attention on the platform will go to those 20 people… I think every day it becomes more difficult to make it on the platform.” But despite a monopolization of huge names, he said “YouTube is not going anywhere. I very strongly believe in YouTube as a platform.” And Eric isn’t going anywhere either: “This is exactly what I want to be doing forever”

  • YouTuber Airrack reveals how he snuck into Jake Paul’s fight unnoticed – Dexerto

YouTuber Airrack reveals how he snuck into Jake Paul’s fight unnoticed YouTube: AirrackUp-and-coming YouTuber Eric ‘Airrack’ Decker has revealed that he managed to sneak into Jake Paul’s high-profile boxing match with Nate Robinson on November 29, bagging a million-dollar view for free. Airrack has been making waves on YouTube throughout 2020, capitalizing on viral content and finding his way into the lives of the likes of Logan Paul and David Dobrik through sheer power of will and confidence. In one of his more recent insane pranks, the creator and his team set about to trick the internet and news channels into thinking he was behind the mysterious sightings of a man flying a jetpack around LAX. But Airrack’s appetite for more pranks is only increasing. Having already turned down the offer to join ‘Team 10’ in July, and being floored by Jake in an impromptu boxing match in May, Airrack once again decided to harass the YouTube star by crashing his fight. Paul knocked out Robinson in the second round of his undercard match at the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. Exhibition after a hyped lead-up to the big day made it a major talking point among viewers. Airrack was able to see it go down in the flesh. The YouTuber explained how they went about figuring out their route inside, “The first step of sneaking in was to climb a nearby skyscraper to scope out the staples center” After realizing that scoping the venue wouldn’t help, they decided to get a disguise, “We did know that Triller was sponsoring the events, we went and made fake staff shirts. As a final touch, we dressed in all black got walkie-talkie props.” Airrack joked: “If anybody asks we’re just the Triller boys okay, we’re the Sway boys, I’m Tayler Holder… you can just call me Josh Richards.” While the disguise helped to an extent, they still needed to find an entrance. “After over an hour of searching, I saw something that looked like a QR code so I decided to scan it which prompted me to open this Google doc, which I then proceeded to fill out essentially putting myself on the list.” Incredibly, Airrack was able to watch the fight go down from a viewpoint that should have cost him up to $1 million but instead cost him nothing – and he never got caught.

  • YouTuber Airrack reveals how he snuck into the Super Bowl using an AirTag – Dexerto

YouTuber Airrack reveals how he snuck into the Super Bowl using an AirTag YouTube: AirrackYouTube star Airrack has revealed how he managed to sneak into the 2022 Super Bowl in Los Angeles, California in early February. The infamous YouTuber, who is known for sneaking into events like Jake Paul vs Nate Robinson in 2020, posted a video titled “Sneaking Into Super Bowl 2022!” just days after the event. After the 25-year-old’s failed attempt to infiltrate the previous Super Bowl, he knew that the task would be anything short of easy. The YouTube star sneaks in with just an AirTag The YouTuber’s first attempt at entering SoFi stadium was by dressing up his friend Tyler as “Tom Brady’s personal plumber,” which didn’t fool security as he was immediately turned around and told to leave the event. In addition to the plumber’s disguise, Airrack also tried playing the role of a football player and an Uber Eats driver, which to his surprise both resulted in him being escorted away for the event grounds. With hopes low, he came up with one last plan, which was to slip an AirTag into someone’s bag and show the event staff that his phone was stuck inside the event when in reality it was just the tracker. @airrack I caught you your next video is sneaking into the super bowl @airrack pic.twitter.com/wHp22y94Dp — trezo_2.0 (@Trezo_2x) February 17, 2022 After bypassing four separate levels of security, the clever-minded YouTuber was in. “No way! I have been so scared about this for a year and I’ve snuck into so many things, this was like the highest level of sneaking in,” Airrack stated in his video. After almost being in the venue for 20 minutes security had caught onto his “game” and escorted him out and back to where he started. “I’m gonna be honest with you guys, sneaking into an event like this is very emotional for me…I have had some of the best memories of my life sneaking into things on this channel, so I feel like what we just did was the pinnacle of the sneak-in series, that being said I am officially quitting [sneaking in],” he said at the end of the video. The adventitious YouTuber has set the goal of getting 10 million people to subscribe to him by the end of 2022 after 2021’s goal was to reach 1M.

  • YouTuber Airrack finally leaves deserted island after hitting 1M subscribers in just one year – Dexerto

YouTuber Airrack finally leaves deserted island after hitting 1M subscribers in just one year YouTube: AirrackYouTuber Eric ‘Airrack’ Decker spent his Christmas on a deserted island after vowing not to leave until he hit 1 million subscribers on his channel – now he is finally free. At 23-years-old, the rising star has gained a massive following in just the last year for his bizarre antics and nail-biting pranks on internet celebrities. In previous videos he dropped a yacht into Logan Paul’s swimming pool, he pranked David Dobrik, and he broke into Jake Paul’s fight with Nate Robinson at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. No stunt Airrack pulls is a small one, and this time he set himself the challenge of staying on a deserted island, over the Christmas holiday, until his subscribers helped him to hit the 1 million mark. Starting on December 20, at just over 800,000 subscribers, Airrack began his quest and started live streaming life on the island, using the tag #saveairrack to spread the word. Finally, after 6 days, on December 27 Airrack was able to escape to the comforts at home after watching his subscriber count hit and surpass 1 million in a tense live stream in a dark tent while it poured with rain. As the live count was seconds away from hitting the goal, Airrack said, “I just wanna say thank you so much from the bottom of my heart to each of you. We started this year at zero…this is the crescendo of an entire year’s worth of work and complete sacrifice of all else and I’m so excited to be doing this with you guys. “Thanks for allowing us to serve you guys, we will continue to do what we’ve been doing but better and bigger… this is just the beginning you know? I’m excited for 10 and 20 million.” After minutes of staring at the counter that felt like hours, it finally hit 7 figures causing Airrack and co-creator Mack to jump out of their chairs in excitement and scream “We did it!” Airrack paced back and forth with his hands on his head in disbelief.

  • YouTuber Airrack fools internet with fake jetpack prank – Dexerto

YouTuber Airrack fools internet with fake jetpack prank YouTube: AirrackUp-and-coming YouTuber Eric ‘Airrack’ Decker has fooled the internet and one of Los Angeles’ biggest news channels by faking that he flew a jetpack at LAX airport. Airrack has been making waves on YouTube throughout 2020, capitalizing on viral content and finding his way into the lives of the likes of Logan Paul and David Dobrik through sheer power of will and confidence. In September the creator attempted to sneak his $100,000, 27ft yacht into the backyard pool of Logan Paul without him noticing. This time around, he’s achieved one of his greatest pranks yet, without actually doing a stunt in the flesh. The creator and his team set about to trick the internet and news channels into thinking he was behind the mysterious sightings of a man flying a jetpack around LAX. The plan was to start by making a 3D model of Airrack’s head, then a 3D model of an Iron Man suit. Next, they filmed fake footage at LAX airport, and paid their friend Mark to create “the most real fake video of all time.” They then posted the video to r/wtf on Reddit to get the ball rolling, earning 2,700 upvotes within the first hour, and eventually hitting the top spot on the subreddit with more than 20,000 upvotes. The next day, Airrack and his team were contacted by news stations including KTLA 5 news who offered to interview the creator. Airrack’s friend Mack pretended to be a man called Matt Cantrell, who’s interview about the fake-sighting was broadcast on KTLA 5 News at 10 pm that day, alongside the fake clip that the team had made. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=td9n5-QUGKM&ab_channel=airrack Fans were completely in awe of the stunt, with one viewer comparing it to legendary pranks of the past, “This is like Yes Theory when they pranked the internet with the Justin Bieber eating a burrito sideways.” Another person commented, “How does Airrack not have 1 mill? These videos are bangers. He literally had the news eating out of their hands.”

YouTuber Airrack explains why he rejected Jake Paul’s Team 10 offer YouTube: Airrack[jwplayer h3XPfMqQ]Popular YouTuber Eric ‘Airrack’ Decker has explained why he’s decided to turn down Jake Paul’s offer of joining the Team 10 house, noting that it might not be in the best interests of his channel. In the last few months, Airrack has skyrocketed to popularity on YouTube thanks to his unique videos and interactions with creators like Logan Paul and David Dobrik. The American is fast approaching 500,000 subscribers and has garnered the attention of Logan’s brother, Jake. So much so, that Jake offered Decker the chance to join him in the Team 10 house as one of his new roommates. While Airrack has been taking part in the challenges laid out by the Paul brother, he isn’t all that interested in joining up with him or his housemates. During his newest upload, the YouTuber explained that he spurned Paul’s invite – acknowledging that it’s a situation that he didn’t think he’d find himself in back when he was first finding his feet on the platform. “With the growth, with the success of the channel, there have been a ton of opportunities that six months ago would have been a dream come true,” he said, noting that some of those opportunities aren’t in the “best interests of the channel.” Timestamp for below video of 7:06 Airrack continued: “Living with Jake Paul, in the Team 10 house, feels like one of those opportunities,” before complimenting the Paul brother on all his success. “As much of opportunity as that is, as cool as that might sound, seeing the way that we have built this channel in the last six months gives me full confidence that we don’t need to move into a certain house, be associated with a certain person to be successful on the platform.” Decker also revealed that he’s had doubts previously about whether or not he could stand out from the crowd by himself on YouTube, but his rise to stardom has shown him to be wrong. Some fans might be disappointed that he’s not joining up with a content collective like Paul’s, but Airrack will, undoubtedly, continue to make his unique video regardless.

  • YouTuber Airrack buys Logan Paul’s $90,000 couches just to prank him – Dexerto

YouTuber Airrack buys Logan Paul’s $90,000 couches just to prank him Airrack, YouTubeRising YouTuber ‘Airrack’ spent an incredible amount of money buying Logan Paul’s couches just to get the opportunity to work with him. Airrack has been blowing up on YouTube in recent months, gaining over 150k subscribers in a short time for his pranks on stars such as David Dobrik and Offset. The up and coming content creator has decided to go after Logan Paul yet again, after initially pranking him by pretending to be a DAZN reporter during the lead up to Jake Paul’s fight against AnEsonGib. After Logan announced that he would be selling his $90,000 Mercedes Benz couches for much cheaper than he originally paid, Airrack saw this as an opportunity to meet with the YouTube star once again. He agreed upon a figure of $17,500 to buy the couches but did not reveal his identity by using a fake alias when first emailing and calling to negotiate the deal. Airrack kept up the act right until the final moment when he arrived at the YouTuber’s house, where he managed to surprise Logan, leaving him stunned at his incredible persistence. Once inside, he joked around with Logan and his housemates before buying the couches and finally getting the opportunity to discuss future collaboration ideas with him, after he had originally approached him for a job in an earlier prank. Logan also uploaded his POV of the prank, explaining that Airrack had initially rubbed him the wrong way after he caught him off guard on multiple occasions, particularly when he appeared outside of his house. However, Logan seemed quite receptive to collaborating with the up-and-coming content creator in the future, inviting him to discuss ideas with Impaulsive co-host Mike Majlak for a brief while before he left. Due to the current health crisis, it is unlikely that they will have any video collabs planned for the near future but fans of the pair will probably see more from them together at some point.

Airrack has been making waves on YouTube throughout 2020, capitalizing on viral content and finding his way into the lives of the likes of Logan Paul and David Dobrik through sheer power of will and confidence. Now, though, he’s looking to another top YouTuber, issuing a huge challenge to none other than MrBeast. MrBeast has built his YouTube channel by doing grandiose challenges to give away insane amounts of money and expensive gifts, including a Lamborghini and even a house, but it’s not often someone attempts to wager with him to win something. For those unaware, in August MrBeast bought a $700,000 private island in the Bahamas, and just days later ended up giving it away for a challenge. The winner was none other than Jimmy’s good friend Chandler, but he might not be the owner for long. In his latest video, posted on September 9, Airrack employs a bunch of friends to help him get out to the Bohemian island, using the $100,000 pink yacht he pranked Logan Paul with just a week prior. After spending hours reaching the island, playing in the sand and dining from coconuts, Airrack was finally ready to plant his flag in the ground — but he had a sudden change of heart. “I can’t just take another man’s island,” he said. “I have to earn it. And since this island belongs to Chandler… Chandler, I’m calling you out!” The challenge is made at 15:27 “Chandler, I found out that you’re pretty good at basketball, baseball and video games,” Airrack continued. “I’m willing to compete with you in any of these three activities, or another of your choosing, to win this island fair and square.” He also added that should Chandler win the challenge, he would be happy to give up his yacht in exchange, so there really is a lot on the line here. He then asked his viewers to spam Mr Beast’s comment section and social media, demanding that he accept the challenge. Chandler and MrBeast haven’t yet responded, but a wager like this seems right up their street — so it’ll be interesting to see how this pans out.

  • YouTuber Adam22 reveals “problems” that forced him to close his store – Dexerto

YouTuber Adam22 reveals “problems” that forced him to close his store No Jumper/Nate RichterPopular podcast host and YouTuber Adam22 has revealed some of the “problems” that caused him to close his iconic store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. Adam22 has built a massive following of over 3 million subscribers for his rap podcast ‘No Jumper’ and his vlogs which often feature many of the top rappers. His podcast along with many of his vlogs were often based in his “onsomeshit” BMX store which he revealed is shutting down soon. During his February 26 upload, Adam22 revealed that although things were going well for the store, there were some “problems” that caused him to close it. “The store is doing fine business-wise, it’s doing so much better right now than it ever was doing in the past but we have problems at the store,” he clarified, before breaking down the main issues. The first of his major problems was that major construction was underway right next to his store and revealed it was likely to carry on for many months. “The construction next door is insanely bad,” he expressed, explaining that a parking garage was being built and that the “terrible noise” would have potentially affected his podcasts during the year. Another one of his problems was that the area they were based in was not what it used to be, “the block was lit when we moved in, there might be a few shops that are kinda cool but basically that block has just fallen off in general.” The popular YouTuber was also concerned about his safety, after he was victim to an attack during one of his livestreams, revealing that it was too easy for people to walk into the back of the store where they would host the podcast. Adam22 also highlighted some other minor problems such as the broken air conditioner, which caused them some discomfort particularly in summer and revealed that he was on the lookout for a new location. He later explained that for the time being they were going to work and host the podcast out of his store’s warehouse space once he manages to get it set up.

  • YouTube warns content creators deleted videos can still get channel strikes – Dexerto

YouTube warns content creators deleted videos can still get channel strikes YouTubeYouTubers are concerned about the platform’s policy that can give channels strikes for content in a video that had already been deleted. Raising questions of random, retroactive strikes that can affect anyone. YouTuber channel ‘The Reel Rejects’ published a video on May 20 about receiving a warning from the site about a video he had permanently deleted hours before. Although it was a warning this time, it’s causing concerns among the broader YouTube community. “To clarify,” The Reel Rejects’ Greg Alba said, reciting logs between him and YouTube support. “It doesn’t matter if I go back and delete videos from six years ago that I, myself, go ‘Oh this [is] a cause for concern with YouTube’s newest censorship rules.’ I can still get flagged or get a strike from them.” The YouTube support rep responded: “I’m afraid so.” This got the attention of more creators on the platform that expressed a similar concern for possible infractions to their channels that may be unavoidable. As YouTube’s policies have changed throughout the years, so have content creators’ videos to adapt to new Community Guidelines. At times, YouTubers self-edit within these changes and delete videos before they can become a problem. But deleting the content might still present a problem for the channel, according to Alba’s encounter with YouTube. Creators have long battled obstinate strikes to channels only for YouTube to reverse course, but there are those who were unaware of this policy. Timestamp at 4:16 for mobile viewers. There are others who were also interested about what that meant as far as privacy is concerned: “Guess this shows that Youtube keeps absolutely everything even when you ask for it deleted,” YouTuber ‘Heavy Spoilers’ said. Dexerto reached out to YouTube for clarification on the matter. We’ll make sure to update this article if the Google-owned platform responds.

  • YouTube viewers outraged after site ‘tests’ banning ad blockers – Dexerto

YouTube viewers outraged after site ‘tests’ banning ad blockers Unsplash.com: NikYouTube viewers are raising alarm bells after being greeted with a message saying the site is now banning ad blockers. YouTube is one of the most popular video-sharing platforms on the internet, boasting an active user base of over 2.5 billion monthly users as of February 2023. A large number of content creators have made careers for themselves by uploading videos to the site, ringing in a new era of entertainment far ahead of the curve of other influencers on sites like Instagram and TikTok. Over the course of the site’s existence, advertisements have played a major part in revenue for both the platform itself and its massive catalog of creators. However, many users have complained about the length and frequency of the ads they’ve been seeing — some of which last 30 seconds and are completely unskippable. YouTube reportedly “experimenting” with banning ad blockers Many viewers have found a way to get around ads on YouTube by using ad blockers. Unfortunately, it looks like this method might be going in the bin soon, according to some users who’ve encountered a new feature that the platform is purportedly testing. In early May, users posted a message they’d allegedly received while attempting to use YouTube with an ad blocker. The message reads: “Ad blockers are not allowed on YouTube.” “It looks like you may be using an ad blocker,” the message continues. “Ads allow YouTube to stay free for billions of users worldwide.” The message then prompts users to switch to YouTube Premium, a service it officially launched in 2015 that allows users to bypass ads and even watch with their phones locked in exchange for a monthly fee. Users aren’t happy with this purported change and took to social media to warn others about the possibility of being unable to watch YouTube with an ad blocker. “One ad before each video was fine, but they got greedy and started playing multiple unskippable 30-second ads,” one user said on Reddit. “That’s when I went for adblock. There is zero chance I am ever deactivating it or paying for premium now, that ship has sailed.” “If there’s SO MANY ads that your users are going out of their way to download and use ad blockers, maybe [it’s] YOU’RE the problem, not the people using them,” another said on Twitter. If there’s SO MANY ads that your users are going out of their way to download and use ad blockers, maybe YOUR the problem, not the people using them. 🙃 — Kendall (@herleorr) May 10, 2023 According to a moderator on the YouTube subreddit, a YouTube employee allegedly confirmed that this is an “experiment” the website is currently running, and has not been rolled out to all users at the time of writing. YouTube confirms it’s running a “small experiment” banning ad blockers In response to a request for comment from Dexerto, a YouTube spokesperson confirmed that this is part of a global experiment urging users with ad blockers either allow ads on the platform via their device, or purchase YouTube Premium. “We’re running a small experiment globally that urges viewers with ad blockers enabled to allow ads on YouTube or try YouTube Premium,” the spokesperson said in a statement to Dexerto. “Ad blocker detection is not new, and other publishers regularly ask viewers to disable ad blockers.” For more entertainment news and coverage, check out our page here.

He was the founder of the Shluv House collective which then turned into the Shluv family, featuring his own relatives and adorable little brother who joins in on all the dances. He’s even had his own dig at Bryce Hall in the form of a comedic diss track but is down to fight Natt Wyatt instead. 24-year-old Wyatt is part of the Hype House and the Triller Compound, and has earned more than 5 million followers on TikTok where he posts lipsync, dance, and prank videos alongside stars such as Tayler Holder. His opponent this time around is Tayler Holder, a TikToker who is part of the Hype House collective and the Triller compound, also known for dating TikToker Charly Jordan as well as former Team 10 member Sommer Ray. However, there has been some doubt as to whether this bout will go ahead on the day as Tayler recently revealed the difference in the fighters’ weight meant a fair match was not guaranteed, with Tayler needing to gain enough weight by the time the date comes around. Deji vs Vinnie Hacker For the penultimate fight before the main event, Vinne Hacker will take on Deji. Vinnie is a TikToker and part of the Hype House collective, while Deji is the brother of YouTuber KSI. Deji is another one of the few influencers on the card who has actively taken part in an exhibition match before when he faced off against Jake Paul in 2018 before KSI went up against Logan. View this post on Instagram Austin McBroom vs Bryce Hall This will be the main event with ACE family patriarch Austin McBroom going head-to-head against TikTok bad-boy Bryce Hall. As far as followers on their given platforms go, both are almost neck-and-neck, with Bryce on 20 million TikTok followers and the ACE family on 19 million YouTube subscribers. The pair have had some very heated exchanges in the run-up to the fight, most notably when they had a brawl at the official press conference, and even following that accused each other of foul play. But that says nothing about how well they’ll do in a real-life boxing match – although Austin McBroom is the current favorite to win. YouTube updates community guidelines following PewDiePie and Pokimane scandals PewDiePie, YouTube / Proteus / Pokimane, TwitterYouTube are finally implementing changes to their highly-criticised ‘three strikes’ system, following a slew of controversies involving major YouTubers, such PewDiePie and Pokimane, among others. The upcoming changes were detailed in a Creator Blog post on February 19, which introduced a simpler system in response to site-wide complaints about the issue. YouTube assured creators that they will be more transparent concerning potential strikes, and will provide greater access to policy resources that break down the reason for an offense. The site will also introduce new desktop and mobile notifications, which will give “important information” to users regarding a strike. • YouTube video claims to reveal how Eminem spent $250 Million – Dexerto

YouTube video claims to reveal how Eminem spent $250 Million Unsplash / EminemMarshall ‘Eminem’ Mathers is one of the most iconic musicians of the last three decades, and YouTuber TheRichest has reported how the rapper from Detroit has spent $250 million over the span of his career in their latest video. Eminem first started to produce music in the late 1980s, but it wasn’t until the release of ‘The Slim Shady LP’ in 1997 that catapulted him to worldwide stardom, becoming the best selling artist in the United States during the 2000s, winning 15 Grammy Awards, and having a legacy as one of the greatest hip-hop artists of all time. With such incredible success comes financial gain too, with the American believed to earn around $20 million a year from royalties, album sales, endorsements, and more. Now, YouTuber TheRichest, who breaks down the lavish lifestyle of the rich and famous, has claimed to reveal how the 47-year-old has spent a whopping $250 million dollars on houses, cars, collectibles, and more. According to TheRichest, two of the rapper’s biggest outlays have been on properties, buying two luxury mansions in Michigan for a combined total of $6.25 million – a far cry from the tiny homes he lived in during his childhood in Detroit City. The rapper also loves his jewelry, and although he’s often spotted wearing G-Shock watches worth $100, he did splash $7000 on a Rolex Datejust, although he doesn’t wear it often due to a fear of it getting damaged, as well as a Perpetual Calendar Skeleton timepiece worth $120,000. On top of that, Slim Shady has often been spotted wearing a diamond-encrusted pendant in the shape of the AA logo, estimated to be worth another $100,000, while in 2003 the rapper gave a fan in London a crucifix necklace he was wearing around his neck, which he claims cost him an eye-watering $450,000. His car collection is nothing to sniff at either, with a rare Porsche Carrera GT which sold for $450,000 on release, a 911-GTR 3S at $200,000, and an Aston Martin Vanquish at $150,000. Some of his most surprising outlays come in the form of arcade games and comic books. The rapper is believed to have spent around $16,000 on retro arcade machines like Donkey Kong and Space Invaders, while also owns legendary Spiderman editions worth over $450,000, a crazy price for a comic book about a teenager who can climb walls. On top of all that, Eminem owns and operates his own record company, with estimates stating it costs $1 million to start up a business of that size, not including operational costs going forward, and also owns a private jet, which can set you back between $3 to $90 million depending on size, age, and quality. The rapper has also sent daughter Hailie to Columbia University, and with three daughters, it’s estimated he will spend at least $360,000 on their higher education alone. The YouTube channel also discusses the on-going costs of his lifestyle, all while maintaining his private jet which to be stored somewhere and maintained by experts, along with the costs of running Shady Records, including staff and the cost of signing acts to the brand. Of course, these numbers don’t all add up to the massive $250 million TheRicher claim he’s spent, but likely go a long way towards the significant amount of money. Of course, when you’re Eminem, income isn’t a major issue like it is for most, but it’s fascinating to see some of the interesting hobbies the rapper has picked up along the years, some of which fans may not have expected.

  • YouTube unveils ‘Multiview’ plans to let you watch several videos at once – Dexerto

YouTube unveils ‘Multiview’ plans to let you watch several videos at once YouTubeA ‘Multiview’ feature is coming to YouTube as it looks to enhance the viewing experience for its users allowing more than one thing to be viewed at the same time on one screen. Since its introduction to the internet in 2005, YouTube has come a long way since being just a video upload website. It has grown to be one of the world’s biggest companies with reported active users of 2.56 billion in Q1 of 2022 according to Semrush, as the media titan continues to evolve. The Google-owned media powerhouse has offered many services amongst under its YouTube brand predominantly for Videos, Music, Gaming, Livestreams, and TV. They have looked to build on its growing TV service capability, through a new feature that they have titled ‘YouTube Multiview’. YouTube reveals plans for ‘multiview’ capability According to their CEO Neal Mohan, the idea is to use Multiview to open up to four different screens inside YouTube TV to watch multiple things at once. This has come about due to them wanting to enhance their watching experience mainly for sports after acquiring significant streaming rights most notably for the NFL. Multivew would therefore allow users not to miss games by watching multiple NFL games at once for example. Fans react to YouTube’s new Multiview feature As news has broken regarding the new addition coming to the platform, fans of the service have shared their views. Many have pointed towards the culture change over the past few years, due to the growing popularity of short-form content. “This is CLEARLY for the currently degrading attention spam our species is suffering through right now,” one user said. Many users were excited about what they are able to watch at the same time: “Now I can have subways surfers and MrBeast at the same time.” As further details are revealed it will be intriguing to see how people make best use of the multi-screen capabilities. Community captions, or Community Contributions, allows anyone on YouTube to contribute translated video titles, descriptions, closed captions and subtitles to a video, and contributions are then reviewed and published by creators. On July 31, though, YouTube announced that Community Contributions would be removed from the platform for a number of reasons. In their announcement post, the platform cited reports of spam and abuse from the feature, which resulted in minimal use, as a reason for removing the feature. It was revealed that the feature would be removed on September 28, 2020, after which contributions would no longer be able to be made, although already-published contributions would remain on their respective videos. Obviously, this means that a large number of disadvantaged viewers are likely to miss out. Community captions have helped deaf or hearing-impaired viewers still enjoy YouTube videos where they can, and some people even say that these captions helped them better learn English as a second language. This came to a head on September 7, when thousands came together on Twitter to get #DontRemoveYouTubeCCs trending, questioning the decision to remove a feature that improves accessibility for people with disabilities. YouTube removing CC is literally such a step back for those who need the assistance. Doesn’t even make sense… #DontRemoveYoutubeCCs — Valkia (@officialvalkia) September 7, 2020 #DontRemoveYoutubeCCs So do you hate viewers like me, YouTube? I’m hard of hearing and enjoy watching some non-English videos. I don’t see how removing CC helps YouTube in anyway. — Princess Luna (@GameAlicornLuna) September 7, 2020 Captions will still be available on videos, but they will have to be created by the channel itself, and not community members, while YouTube’s automatic captioning feature will also remain. What this means for captions long-term remains to be seen. With correct captioning and translations being on the shoulders of the creators, or YouTube’s automated process, we might see even more viewers turned away knowing they won’t get accurate captions. A major part of the issue boils down to the fact that the process was regularly abused and, with less than 0.001% of channels having published community captions, it might not make much of a difference in the long-term. That said, many are understandably upset at the loss of even that small percentage of community captions, and it will be interesting to see how YouTube react to the public backlash — if at all.

  • YouTube under fire for “tone deaf” tweet amid SSSniperwolf doxxing controversy – Dexerto

YouTube under fire for “tone deaf” tweet amid SSSniperwolf doxxing controversy Instagram: SSSniperwolfYouTube is being heavily criticized for what many are labeling a “tone deaf” post on Twitter amid the SSSniperwolf and Jacksfilms doxxing controversy. This past week, Dexerto reported how streamer SSSniperwolf was caught in the middle of a major controversy after her Instagram story revealed her asking followers if she should “visit” Jacksfilms, as he lived only minutes away from where she was shooting content. She then did just that, livestreaming from outside his property, thereby doxxing the fellow content creator. Since this initial incident, many other big-name streamers, including Asmongold and Pokimane, have reacted to the drama. Jacksfilms himself posting on Twitter “Sssniperwolf just doxxed me on her [Instagram]…In what universe do you think that’s okay? In what reality do you live in where you think this behavior is justified?” In the latest development, YouTube has now found itself the target of major online backlash, with many online users disappointed and flabbergasted by a poorly-timed post on Twitter amid the ongoing drama. In a recent Tweet, YouTube asked “would it be too meta to do a reaction video to a reaction video?” SSSniperWolf is known entirely for her reaction-based content. It’s this content that was the heart of the online beef between her and Jacksfilms ahead of the doxxing incident. Naturally, many have now seen this post from YouTube as an indirect means of addressing the situation. Twitter users have been reacting in spades, many criticizing YouTube for not taking the situation seriously at all. One commenter wrote “Are you trying to be funny? Your platform is flooded with trolls who abuse copyright laws to silence critics and blatantly ignore fair use when it’s convenient. And at the same time platform and promote freebooting, time, and resource thieves.” Others added “It’d be more meta if you did your job towards a certain reaction doxxer” and “YouTube making tone-deaf tweets instead of enforcing their TOS.” At the time of writing YouTube is yet to take the tweet down or apologize for what many are saying is a “tone-deaf” reply. However, we’ll be sure to keep you updated on the situation as it unfolds. As it stands, SSSniperWolf is yet to be removed from the platform despite pleas from Jacksfilms and countless others in light of her actions. • YouTube slams Tesla for child endangerment following recent advertisement – Dexerto

YouTube slams Tesla for child endangerment following recent advertisement PIXABAYYouTube has slammed Tesla for child endangerment, following a recent ad video featuring kids being used for FSD beta testing. YouTube has recently removed a pair of videos from its platform, which showed drivers conducting amateur vehicle safety tests using their own children in the road. The idea to test FSD with real children emerged after a video and ad campaign posted to Twitter showed Tesla cars failing to detect child-sized dummies placed in front of them. This caused Tesla fans to start a debate about the limitations of the feature. Whole Mars Catalog, a Twitter and YouTube channel run by Tesla investor Omar Qazi, later hinted at creating a video involving real children in an attempt to prove the original results wrong. A video titled “Does Tesla Full-Self Driving Beta really run over kids?” was later posted on Whole Mars Catalog’s YouTube channel and involves a Tesla driver testing his car’s Full Self-Driving feature with his own kids. During the video, he drives a Tesla Model 3 toward one of his children standing in the road, and then tries again with his other child crossing the street. The car stops before reaching the children both times. YouTube speaks out against using children for dangerous content The controversial Tesla video has since been removed for violating the platform’s community guidelines against content that endangers minors. A spokesperson for YouTube, Elena Hernandez, told CNBC: “YouTube doesn’t allow content showing a minor participating in dangerous activities or encouraging minors to do dangerous activities.” She continued: “Upon review, we determined that the videos raised to us by CNBC violate our harmful and dangerous policies, and as a result we removed the content.” As outlined on YouTube’s support page, the platform has specific rules against content that “endangers the emotional and physical well-being of minors.” “Specifically, we don’t allow content showing or encouraging minors in harmful situations that may lead to injury, including dangerous stunts, dares, or pranks,” Elena told the news outlet. The Tesla video had over 60,000 views before it was removed on YouTube. It remains available to watch on Twitter.

  • SSSniperWolf apologizes as YouTube demonetizes channel over JacksFilms doxxing – Dexerto

SSSniperWolf apologizes as YouTube demonetizes channel over JacksFilms doxxing YouTube: SSSniperWolfSSSniperWolf has apologized about her actions that led to the doxxing of fellow YouTuber JacksFilms just after YouTube temporarily demonetized her channel. Back on October 17, 2023, YouTuber Jacksfilms called out the platform for not taking action against reaction video creator SSSniperwolf after the creator allegedly doxxed Jacksfilms on her Instagram Story. Other creators quickly began to chime into the conversation, with Asmongold, Pokimane, and MoistCr1TiKal standing against the doxxing incident. Now, YouTube has confirmed on Twitter that her monetization has been affected on the platform — but people aren’t happy when the result. YouTube “temporarily” demonetizes SSSniperwolf Shared in a tweet on October 20, YouTube confirmed that they have ‘temporarily” demonetized the female YouTuber. “Confirming SSSniperWolf has received a temporary monetization suspension per Creator Responsibility policies. Off platform actions that put others’ personal safety at risk harm our community & the behavior on both sides isn’t what we want on YT. Hoping everyone helps move this convo to a better place,” they said. Her other channel, SSSniperwolf’s Top Videos, has also been demonetized in the process. Users quickly took to the comments to share their thoughts — and hardly anyone is happy with the fact it’s temporary. “Behavior on both sides??? One person is clearly being targeted and hurt here, and it’s Jacksfilms! What a ridiculous statement,” one user replied. Another said: “The punishment doesn’t match the literal crime. Stop playing favorites and being deliberately cryptic.” A third commented: “Temporary? So the YouTube official response is that we can dox people every X weeks, where X is determined by how much the YouTube team simps for them?” SSSniperwolf apologizes to Jacksfilms after being demonetized In a post on Twitter/X, SSSniperwolf apologized to Jacksfilms, YouTube, and the entire community. “Let me start by saying I’m sorry for my recent actions; it is inexcusable. I’m sorry to Jacksfilm, YouTube, the entire creator community, and my incredible fans for not being a better example for appropriate conflict resolution,” she said. “Jacksfilms, while we certainly don’t see eye to eye and have our differences, I am sorry for reacting the way I did when I should’ve taken the opportunity to show young creators how adults and professionals resolve conflict by communicating directly, respectfully, and privately; not for views or content, but a meaningful example of how conflict should be solved. I will reach out directly and hope we can find some time to connect and communicate, respectfully. “I’d also like to thank YouTube for holding me accountable. I deserve it, respect the decision and appreciate the opportunity to learn and grow from a true lapse in judgement.” Jacksfilms has yet to respond to her apology or the action that YouTube has taken towards her account. We’ll update this article when he does.

  • YouTuber makes rookie error after hiring random mod from chat – Dexerto

YouTuber makes rookie error after hiring random mod from chat YouTube: SweeneytvYouTube creator Sweeneytv, known for his own “Twitch mod” parodies, made a grave error in selecting his own for his stream. He gave a random viewer mod powers after his chat descended into chaos, and it only got worse from there. YouTube and Twitch stream moderators hold a lot of power: They make sure they keep the chat clean and stop any bad eggs. You have to trust them as a streamer. So when Sweeneytv, a YouTuber known for poking fun at Twitch and YouTube mods for their policies, selected his own, he trusted his judgment. After all, he’s seen and acted out the worst of them, so he should be able to pick a good one. Someone came into his chat mid-stream and started spamming it up with hateful comments, and his viewers begged him to give someone the power to clean it up. He did a quick interview in his chat and ended up selecting one “Thai Nguyen.” It’d end up being the biggest, yet most hilarious, mistake of his stream. “There were a couple of good resumes, but I didn’t really trust anyone, and then one person named Thai came out of nowhere and said, ‘I will be the mod.’ That alone, their confidence in wanting to be the mod, I made a rash decision and picked them,” he said after the fact. He tested Thai, asking them to delete someone’s message. The new moderator obliged, and Sweeney even gave him glowing praise after “apologizing after deleting a message.” Sweeney was convinced Thai wasn’t the troll. But then, his viewer count started plummeting, and Thai’s true colors showed — he was the original spammer, and he was banning everyone in his chat. “All of a sudden, the view count started to go down, and there it was, Thai, spamming in chat, saying, ‘haha I banned everyone.’ It turns out, in a twist, you would have never expected it — Thai had everything going for him,” Sweeney said. “I didn’t know Thai was going to be the Judas to the Jesus in this situation — it was the ultimate betrayal. Everybody in my chat got banned by Thai. There was no more chatters, just Thai. “With a heavy heart, I had to ban Thai and then go to my YouTube studio and unblock literally every single one of my YouTube chatters and then apologize that I hired Thai.” While Sweeney did end up hitting his goals from the stream and had a great time, he might spend a bit more time vetting his moderators for future broadcasts — not just a random few questions in chat. “The moral of the story is don’t hire your mod immediately in chat if you don’t recognize them. I should have known because he didn’t have a profile picture, but I just admire Thai’s confidence — I thought Thai was going to be one of the good ones. I didn’t expect the betrayal.”

  • YouTube takes shot at TikTok by adding Shorts to partner program – Dexerto

YouTube takes shot at TikTok by adding Shorts to partner program Pexels: Adam FejesYouTube has just announced that they are adding Shorts to the partner program, allowing Shorts creators to earn more money doing what they love. Over the last few years, short-form content on TikTok and YouTube Shorts has taken over the internet and created some of the biggest influencers in the industry. When it comes to monetary incentives, TikTok launched its Creator Fund — a set $200M that would be used to pay every qualifying creator on the platform. However, many expressed concern about the low pay as more influencers joined the fund. YouTube copied that monetization style with the $100M Shorts Fund, but now they’re among the first platforms to provide a better and easier way to pay its Shorts creators by adding the format to its existing partner program. YouTube Shorts added to partner program During a press event on September 20, YouTube revealed that they plan on adding YouTube Shorts to the YouTube Partner Program. YouTube Gaming Partner Manager Jake Curtis detailed the news in a tweet. He said: “Monetization via rev share is coming to Shorts! Creators 45% / YT 55% With this, we’re adding an additional pathway to YPP -> 10M Shorts Views, 1K Subs over 90 days” This means that YouTube Shorts creators who achieve 10M views and 1k subscribers will be added to the YouTube Partner program. Until now, the only way to be added to the program was 4,000 watch hours and 1k subs in the previous 12 months. Back in January 2022, Ludwig shared how little he earned from 12M views on YouTube shorts compared to a similar long-form video on the platform. We’ll update this article as more information about the program is revealed.

Eyepatch Wolf has amassed over 1M subs for his analytical videos on anime and games, among other things. The YouTuber has been doing it for years, and has created a dedicated community since he began. The fandom runs so deep that someone named Paul reached out to the YouTuber for a special project with a certain Super Eyepatch Wolf watcher in mind. Paul was getting ready to propose to his partner Maya, but wasn’t going to settle for an ordinary proposal. The video starts with the YouTuber narrating his ‘video’ just like any other video, but it gets real personal to Maya and Paul, real quick. Through the deep-think style of Paul’s script that seamlessly translated to Eyepatch Wolf’s video style, audiences got to know the couple’s love story. As we got to know how they met, learned about their almost-chance encounter, and seeing Paul’s fiancé-to-be absolutely lose it at every slide, viewers were collectively engrossed in the video along with Maya. It was a smooth transition before he popped the question, and the reactions after the ‘yes’ were heartwarming. Dude…. DUDE!!! This is way up there on the list of sweetest things I’ve ever seen. • New YouTube policy mass strips channels of verification – Dexerto

New YouTube policy mass strips channels of verification Google / YouTubeFollowing new policy on the criteria for channel verification, YouTube has informed several creators that their channels will no longer be verified. YouTube has announced a massive change to how channels get verified on September 19th. YouTube sent an email to numerous creators, outlining the new criteria and informing the creator that they will no longer be considered a verified YouTube channel. Here is the email sent to numerous YouTube creators: Hi there, We’re writing to let you know that we’re updating the eligibility criteria for channel verification on YouTube. Unfortunately, with these changes, your channel no longer meets the criteria to be verified. We realize this might be disappointing, but we believe these updates will make channel verification more consistent for users and creators across YouTube. Please keep reading to learn more about the changes and what you can do. What’s changing: YouTube will now proactively verify channels instead of accepting requests for verification badges. We aim to verify channels that represent a well-known or highly searched creator, artist, public figure, or company with a clear need to differentiate themselves from other channels with a similar name. Channels are typically verified if they: • Have built a large audience and community on YouTube. • Are widely recognized outside of YouTube and have a strong presence online. • Or, have a channel name that could be confused with other channels on YouTube. The goal is to help channels avoid impersonation, and help viewers understand if a channel is the official presence of the creator, celebrity, or brand it represents. The verification badge does not represent endorsements or awards from YouTube. What this means for you: Starting in early October 2019, your channel will no longer be verified, but you have the option to appeal the decision here. This will not impact monetization of your channel. For more information on these changes, please refer to the YouTube Help Center. Sincerely, The YouTube Team Previously, channels with 100k subscribers get verified with no additional criteria. Now, channels and creators will have to prove their “authenticity and prominence.” According to their official announcement, there is no process to request channel verification. There is only an appeal process for now unverified channels. Ryan “Fwiz” Wyatt, YouTube’s Global Head of Gaming & Virtual Reality, responded to the changes in a tweet: We made changed to verification. • YouTube subscriber purge helps PewDiePie in battle vs T-Series – Dexerto

YouTube subscriber purge helps PewDiePie in battle vs T-Series PewDiePie’s ongoing fight to remain the most subscribed YouTube channel, with Indian record label T-Series on his tail, has been given a boost – thanks to YouTube itself. Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has had the most subscribed channel on YouTube for over seven years, but when T-Series began gaining subscribers at a ridiculous rate, PewDiePie, his fans and other YouTubers began to fear the worst. The pushback against T-Series overtaking PewDiePie is largely down to a feeling among creators and users that YouTube is becoming more corporate, moving away from its roots of everyday people with a camera. PewDiePie very much represents that classic YouTube style of an everyday person talking into a camera, while T-Series represents the corporate takeover. So, many YouTubers and fans have been doing their part to assist PewDiePie, Such as MrBeast’s ad campaign, hacking printers with messages reading ‘subscribe to PewDiePie’, and even a massive billboard in Time Square, New York. But now, it appears even YouTube themselves are doing their part. As part of a recent ‘purge’, YouTube removed millions of “spam subscriptions” – dropping T-Series by over 300,000, while PewDiePie lost only 80,000, approximately. so @pewdiepie lost 80k subs from the purge. T-Series lost 300K. 300 THOUSAND. pic.twitter.com/VSr51TFo3K— T9 (@Thafnine) December 14, 2018 It looks like YouTube paid attention to all the demands to take a “close look” at T-Series sub count especially. When they announced that the subscriber ‘purge’ would take place, lots of commenters on both Twitter and Google Groups demanded that T-Series subscribers were investigated. It means that PewDiePie is now comfortably in the lead over T-Series – hitting 77 million on December 16, while T-Series lags behind on 75,600,000 – when at one point the gap was as close as only 40,000. It seemed clear that no matter what efforts PewDiePie made, at one point T-Series would eventually take over, given the population of India and how popular T-Series’ content is in the country. However, thanks to the community, fans, and now YouTube too, PewDiePie has taken a commanding lead.

  • YouTube streamer’s fish commits credit card fraud while playing Pokemon Scarlet & Violet – Dexerto

YouTube streamer’s fish commits credit card fraud while playing Pokemon Scarlet & Violet A YouTube streamer whose fish plays Pokemon Scarlet & Violet was recently the victim of credit card fraud after the game crashed, leading to an exposed credit card number and accidental purchases. One of the ways streaming has revolutionized gaming is through challenge runs. Instead of playing games the way developers intend, streamers find alternate methods of play to spice up the viewing experience. This could not be more true for YouTuber streamer Mutekimaru. The channel mainly features games from the Pokemon franchise, but they aren’t played by a human. Instead, the games are played by a beta fish swimming in front of a control panel. While this has led to several historic gaming moments, a recent mishap on stream caused a series of issues for the human behind the Mutekimaru channel. Fish leaks owners credit card info Pokemon Scarlet & Violet are plagued with performance issues in their current version. And one of these issues causes the game to crash and return to the Nintendo Switch Home screen. Lo and behold, Mutekimaru’s beta encountered this error when entering a sandstorm on the outskirts of Cascarraffa. However, due to the way the fish’s input device is set up, it still accepts commands outside the game. The fish eventually navigated to the settings, changed the profile’s name, and found a back door to the Nintendo eShop. After “reading” the Terms of Service, the fish closed out of the online store only to launch it again moments later. This time, it found its way onto a screen exposing the console owner’s credit card information. But it didn’t stop its path of destruction there. The fish continued to select on-screen options until it successfully purchased 500 yen – effectively committing credit card fraud. Luckily, this story isn’t all bad news for Mutekimaru. The fish did find a way to log into the owner’s MyNintendo account and earn a few rewards. It also downloaded the Nintendo 64 library before turning the console off. Mutekimaru did end up requesting a refund for the money their fish spent, and Nintendo kindly accepted. And despite the dangers of leaving your gamer fish unattended, they are still playing Pokemon Scarlet & Violet live on YouTube.

YouTube streamer saves man from being mugged & robbed of bike on livestream YouTube, SherwindoA YouTuber streamer has gotten praise for saving a man from being mugged and robbed of his bicycle during a livestream, as he shouted and scared the attacker off before calling the police. Livestreamers on Twitch and YouTube deal with some degree of spontaneity during their real-time vlogging escapades — and few followers expect vigilante justice to be among the day’s activities. But the rare occurred when YouTube’s Sherwin was out and about during an evening passing through Leicester Square in London, England. While moving through the usually busy area, Sherwin notices some commotion off in the distance and quickly heads toward it in a concerned panic. With a camera showing Sherwin’s face and one showing his POV (point of view), YouTube chat got a front-row seat to what ends up being an act of random bystander heroism. In a one-minute clip shared to Twitter, the incident has been shared more widely across the internet. In the video, Sherwin is seen shielding the bloodied, fallen victim and fending off the attacker multiple times before drawing a group of helpful strangers and calling the police. Live-streamer saves an Asian man from being mugged. #StopAsianHate pic.twitter.com/wlhaliHeGR — Fifty Shades of Whey (@davenewworld_2) April 10, 2021 As can be seen in the clip, Sherwin notices something happening off in the distance and quickly runs over, in front of a moving car, yelling “leave him alone!” As the fallen man lays beside his bike, imploring the streamer to “call the police,” Sherwin continues to shout the stubborn attacker away. Simultaneously creaming “f**k off” at the hopeful thief, asking the victim if he’s alright and calling the police on a phone strapped to his wrist, the commotion becomes loud enough for a group of strangers walking by to stop and assist. A group of three, the young men immediately ask “what happened?” To which, Sherwin hastily responds that the attacker “was kicking him … he tried to curb-stomp him.” With this group immediately concerned and turning their attention, the attacker finally runs off for good. Despite hanging around in wait for much of the minute, he was possibly convinced it wasn’t a good idea to return when one of the group aggressively shouted, “ay G, why you running?” https://twitter.com/Sherwindo7/status/1380982866230841346 Sherwin’s actions come at a time in which social media is rightfully ablaze with the #StopAsianHate movement, a direct response to rising hate crimes against Asians in the past year. Protecting someone from harm and robbery is commendable at any time, but has garnered extra attention for saving an Asian man during a time in which a light is shined on the injustices toward them. In a response to all of the appreciation he is receiving on social media, the small streamer focused on how glad he was to help someone under threat: “I know what it’s like to be attacked for no good reason. I’m super glad I instinctively reacted fast. I’m happy I saved someone who was in serious danger.” As seen later in the stream, Sherwin and the victim were able to speak with police and medical workers and the video seems to have been shared with the cops. It remains to be known if a successful arrest has been made using said footage.

  • YouTube streamer under fire for allegedly harassing women in Japan – Dexerto

YouTube streamer under fire for allegedly harassing women in Japan NanpaLiveUsers are spreading the word about a banned Twitch streamer who now broadcasts on YouTube allegedly harassing women on the streets of Japan. The streamer, who goes by NanpaLive, has a controversial history as outlined by Redditor HereWithTheboom, including an instance where fellow streamer ImJasmine claimed he was very aggressive with her. “For anyone unaware, This streamer who goes by ‘NanpaLive’ on Youtube (seductionLive in Japanese) recently got permanently banned on twitch for physically and verbally harassing women on the streets,” the user explained. In one of the first clips provided, the man is seen vaping while being up close and personal with a woman, yelling “I don’t care about your job, b*tch” while in her face. Then, in what was supposedly one of his first YouTube streams, he appears to be following a woman alone by herself around on the street. He stops to say “hi” to her a few times despite not receiving a response in return. Yet another clip shows Nanpa put his arm around a woman who seems very uncomfortable with him. “He recently got into an altercation with the biggest female streamer in Japan (ImJasmine). He apparently started being very abusive and touchy,” HereWithTheboom said. In clips provided, ImJasmine explained how when her stream turned off, he was extremely aggressive with her. “Maybe the alcohol just brought it out of them where they were more honest… usually when I’m around people that drink I’ve never been around someone that’s super aggressive when they’re drunk. That was so f***ing scary to me.” “He streams whilst drunk almost every day and abuses even his own friends when they won’t pay for his drinks or taxi ride back home. Overall this man is a degenerate and a scumbag and dare I say borderline a predator,” HereWithTheboom alleged. In the final video provided, NanpaLive can be seen spitting into a water fountain after waiting for a police officer to look away for a moment. The post quickly spread on Reddit, with many calling for the streamer to be kicked out of Japan and removed from YouTube. So far, YouTube has yet to take any action, despite the accusations of harassment lodged against him.

  • YouTube streamer Ludwig “laughed” at Hasan’s Twitch contract revenue split – Dexerto

YouTube streamer Ludwig “laughed” at Hasan’s Twitch contract revenue split Ludwig/HasanTwitch star Hasan Piker says that YouTuber Ludwig Ahgren “laughed” at his Twitch contract after privately revealing to him his agreed-upon revenue split. Twitch made headlines on September 21 when the broadcasting site denied requests to improve its 70/30 revenue split with streamers, pointing to high live video costs. After the news dropped, tons of streamers chimed in, like Asmongold and Valkyrae, who slammed the broadcasting site’s decision. Now, Hasan has shed light on what his Twitch contract looks like and how a fellow streamer actually laughed at his revenue split. Ludwig laughs at Hasan’s Twitch contract Hasan was live on September 21 when he shed some light on his own Twitch contract amidst the fallout of Twitch’s revenue split decision. He explained that he couldn’t give exact numbers, as that would violate the terms of his contract, but he did share just how brutal the terms are. “All I will say is Ludwig who saw my contract laughed about it numerous times. Both publicly and privately to my face. I don’t have a 50/50 ad split, and if you think that it’s better than that…” Hasan explained that the reason his contract is worse than 50/50 is that he wanted to run the least amount of ads possible throughout his broadcasts. He also said he has the lowest ad density out of all of the platform’s top streamers. Although he wouldn’t clarify exactly how unfavorable his contract revenue ad split it, if it was enough to make Ludwig laugh directly in his face, it’s probably pretty rough for the political streamer.

YouTube streamer ‘Sicilian Andy’ went on a binge of Twitch’s ‘Just Chatting’ category in late March, resulting in a toked-up tirade against Twitch stars like Pokimane, Alinity, and even LegendaryLea. Andy began by taking shots at Pokimane, mockingly calling her a “beautiful angel” and a “thot” before turning to Alinity. “Oh Alinity, the biggest thot of all!” Andy yelled. “‘Can we copy strike this guy?’ I’m such a [expletive]” he continued, referencing her highly controversial copy strike of YouTuber PewDiePie’s ‘eye-tracking’ video in May of 2018 (for using the term ‘Twitch thot,’ no less). • YouTube streamer finally banned after disturbing video breaches child safety policy – Dexerto

YouTube streamer finally banned after disturbing video breaches child safety policy YouTube: ShannyForChristYouTube streamer Shannon ‘Shanny for Christ’ Dornbush has been banned from the platform after a video showed her partner threatening to beat a child. YouTube have made efforts to crack down on users that breach their terms and conditions over the past few months, and after several complaints, streamer Shanny for Christ has been banned for violating the site’s child safety policy. Dornbush was convicted of assaulting former partner Jason Ergoff in 2019 after a domestic incident. A verified police report found that she slapped Ergoff across the face before lashing him with a whip. Her main channel has now been removed for a disturbing video that showed her current partner threatening to beat one of their children, but she continues to try and evade the system. As reported by Kat Tenbarge of Business Insider, on June 1, a YouTube Twitter response claimed that Dorbush’s initial stream was “not violating any of [their] policies” and therefore “it will remain active on our platform.” However, a second comment on June 2 shows one of YouTube’s representatives confirming that the stream “violates their policy” and that they subsequently “removed the content from the platform.” When I reached out to a YouTube representative, though, YouTube confirmed that the livestream violated its child safety policy. Here’s the second tweet from Team YouTube that reverses position and shows they took the video down. pic.twitter.com/CBuvstaQfn — Kat Tenbarge (@kattenbarge) June 3, 2021 Despite this, Dornbush appealed overnight and the stream was reinstated. This was posted on her original social media (now deactivated) with the caption “ha take that haters.” Getting back in touch with YouTube, Tenbarge said: “They removed the video for a second time. Then, for good measure, they terminated Dornbush’s channel.” She then created a second channel, which was also removed. After I circled back with YouTube, they removed the video for a 2nd time. Then, for good measure, they terminated Dornbush’s channel. She ban evaded for a few hours on a 2nd channel, but now that one is gone too. pic.twitter.com/6b6Csk1kfO — Kat Tenbarge (@kattenbarge) June 3, 2021 From there, a third channel was made under the title “ShannyCooks,” which no longer appears to be active on the site. In response to Tenbarge’s findings and report, Dornbush has emailed her stating: “btw if you don’t redact this story I’m going to sue the living f**k out of you. YOU ARE ENABLING CRIMINALS AND HATE CULTURE YOU STUPID B**CH.” As this situation continues to unfold, we’ll make sure this page remains up to date with the latest findings. • YouTube streamer banks $16k just sleeping and letting viewers wake him up – Dexerto

YouTube streamer banks $16k just sleeping and letting viewers wake him up YouTube: Asian AndyA YouTube streamer made an absolute killing simply by sleeping on stream and letting viewers donate to wake him up. [jwplayer h3XPfMqQ] Sleep streams have become somewhat of a common occurrence in recent years. While Twitch, YouTube and other platforms are most commonly used to stream gameplay or chat to fans, many have also livestreamed their sleep, with thousands pouring in to simply watch someone in their slumber. While it sounds weird, there’s obviously something about it that works for people — especially the broadcasters who hit the jackpot and manage to make a pretty penny for it. That’s exactly what happened for Asian Andy, who banked $16,000 in his sleeping stream. During his seven hours of sleep — or, a fair bit less considering his viewers were aiming to keep him awake — this averages out to little under $2,300 an hour. Read More: Streamers slam “predatory” new dating show – During the stream, viewers could donate to disturb Andy and keep him awake. This meant text-to-speech-donations, with viewers asking Alexa to play loud music or play an alarm to shock him into staying awake. They also asked Alexa to reveal his location and frequently attempted to trick him into believing there was someone standing at his bedroom window, at one point even saying that someone was there with a knife. In perhaps one of the creepiest moments of the stream, someone left a note on his window, which seemed harmless and with purely funny intentions but still definitely raises some questions. It must be pretty annoying trying to sleep and constantly being woken up, but with over 1 million subscribers on YouTube, Andy can’t have expected much more. That alongside an additional $16k in the bank probably made it all a bit more worthwhile. This is definitely an anomaly as far as successful sleep streams go, but it shows there really is the possibility to make money from anything — especially on the internet.

  • YouTube streamer accused of assaulting guest during live podcast – Dexerto

YouTube streamer accused of assaulting guest during live podcast Queenzflip, Instagram / UnsplashThanks to the advent of live streaming, the internet now provides viewers with a near non-stop barrage of hilarious and unexpected moments that occur in real time – one of which threw down during a livestreamed podcast episode on YouTube. YouTuber and podcast host ‘Queenzflip’ was in the middle of his live show ‘DA CALLERS’ with two guests when a fourth party suddenly entered the studio, handing out handshakes to the crew before addressing Queenz about an altercation that had gone down prior to the show. Queenz and his guest (pictured in the middle, below) had gotten into a fight sometime beforehand, prompting Queenz to invite him on his show, as he hadn’t taken things further after knocking Queenz to the ground. 600https://www.instagram.com/p/BxDflGNld6N/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_linkHowever, despite Queenz’s promise that everything was “good,” all was not actually “good,” as the fourth party – Queenz’s cousin – confronted him on the subject, which ended in blows. Queenz’s cousin threw a series of punches toward the host’s prior opponent, who was finally separated after a brief struggle. The cousin then asked the middle guest to fight him outside – a request that the guest vehemently denied. Despite Queenz and the middle guest appearing to have “settled” their beef, many fans noticed that the host appeared to sneak in a few blows during the initial scuffle – something that Queenz addressed in a series of Twitter posts after a clip of the fight went viral. “What QueenzFlip did was out of INSTINCT!!!!” one user wrote of the matter, which Queenz retweeted. “You see somebody you close to fighting, it’s hard to NOT get involved, & it was a **** that he apparently just fought for disrespecting his family! He didn’t HAVE to, but it is what it is.” What @QueenzFlip did was out of INSTINCT!!!! This would be far from the first time such a debacle has occurred during a live stream, either; ‘No Jumper’ podcast host Adam ‘Adam22’ Grandmaison was held at gunpoint during a stream in in mid-March, which ended in the perpetrator’s arrest. Both YouTube and Twitch have seen their fair share of livestreamed violence, with the altercation during Queenzflip’s show being the one of the latest scuffles to pop up on the sites.

  • YouTuber successfully sells microwave meals via food delivery app – Dexerto

YouTuber successfully sells microwave meals via food delivery app Josh Pieters/YouTubeYouTube star Josh Pieters hilariously exposed some issues with Deliveroo in a new video where he sold microwave meals to customers. Deliveroo is a UK-based online food service similar to that of UberEats where a restaurant will get an order and have it picked up by a driver to deliver to a customer. Normally there are legitimate restaurants on it, but as it turns out, just about anyone, including YouTubers with nearly one million subscribers can sell their products. “Would Deliveroo allow me to sell microwave meals on their app?” Pieters asked. “Probably not. You can’t just pretend your microwave is a restaurant, but if you did you’d need a name.” (Timestamp 0:12 for mobile viewers) And that’s all it took to get the ball rolling and the orders coming. After setting up a restaurant called “The Italian Stallion” with a website and Instagram page to appear legitimate, Pieters and his friend Archie Manners were approved to start selling. Even as they were waiting to get their “hygiene rating”, they were told they could operate as long as they put the application in. With that, people literally began ordering from “The Italian Stallion” restaurant, which was actually just Pieters’ kitchen and by kitchen, it was just his microwave. However, Pieters’ was not in the interest of scamming people. “We’re obviously selling microwavable meals at a premium price to people, so when a normal person orders food from us, we are going to put the amount of money they spent on their order back in the box in cash with a note explaining what we’re doing.” (Timestamp 6:57 for mobile viewers) Eventually, after not having any orders, they decided to put on a sale and suddenly they started getting customers and made over 100 pounds proving that in fact you can put your microwave on Deliveroo as a restaurant. Speaking with Insider, the UK YouTuber said he didn’t intend to make an expose of the application. “Everything we said to Deliveroo was pretty much true. We didn’t lie about anything or make anything up,” he revealed. “We said, ‘This is the address of our restaurant’ — I didn’t give them my flat number, I just gave the building as the address, which they seemed fine with.” Considering how easy it was for Pieters to just open up a restaurant, it may make the company change how it handles applications and implement new procedures.

Wireless mice are undoubtedly some of the best PC gaming peripherals out there. You don’t have to stress about the reach of a cord and you’ll never miss a shot because you couldn’t drag your mouse far enough. But they do have an unforeseen downside. In this instance, pranks. One YouTuber has taken it upon himself to drive a professional Rainbow Six Siege coach absolutely mental by hilariously pranking him with a wireless mouse. In an October 7 post, Mason devised a ridiculous wireless mouse prank on Dark Zero’s R6 pro coach Jordan ‘BKN’ Soojian, and the results were spectacular. The concept of the prank was for Mason to connect his own mouse to BKN’s computer, wirelessly enabling him to mess with the coach’s aim. Mostly innocent at first for a quick laugh, the joke rapidly spiraled out of control as Soojian reached breaking point. It didn’t take long at all for the coach to reach his breaking point, tweeting the peripheral’s manufacturers FinalMouse to claim that his sensor wasn’t working anymore and that he was entitled to a replacement. Little did he know, the prank was only just beginning. Hey @finalmouse my sensor isn’t working anymore. It wanders on its own. Good thing you guys have extras to replace broken product right? Or am I out $120? How do the enlightened ones handle this? — Jordan :bacon: (@BKN_R6) October 6, 2019 “I can’t even get back in bro,” he said with his head in his hands. All due to the YouTuber now taking the prank to whole new levels and amusingly backing him out of ranked games entirely, an offense that, if repeated, can lead to suspensions and even outright bans. Finally catching on to the joke, BKN humorously hurled insults at Roy before tweeting that the YouTuber will no longer be “allowed back in this house.” While the hilarity definitely served for some great content from the gaming house, let’s all be glad that it was done in jest. Many other content creators have been angered beyond belief, leading to many smashed gaming peripherals in the past.

The lofi radios have been taken down because of false copyright strikes, hopefully @YouTubeCreators @YouTube will sort this quickly… pic.twitter.com/X01hL6jT2N — Lofi Girl (@lofigirl) July 10, 2022 The plan worked and YouTube eventually confirmed that the copyright strikes were not only false but aggressive. “Confirmed the takedown requests were abusive & terminated the claimants’ account. We’ve resolved the strikes [and] reinstated your vids – it can sometimes take 24-48 hours for everything to be back to normal! So sorry this happened.” confirmed the takedown requests were abusive & terminated the claimants account 😔 we’ve resolved the strikes + reinstated your vids – it can sometimes take 24-48 hours for everything to be back to normal! so sorry this happened & thx for your patience as we sorted it out ❤️🩹 — TeamYouTube (@TeamYouTube) July 11, 2022 However, this isn’t the first time the channel has been mistakenly hit with a copyright strike from YouTube and been forced to end their stream. Hopefully, this latest strike will be the last.

  • YouTuber sneaks into BLAST Pro Series Moscow by feigning ignorance – Dexerto

YouTuber sneaks into BLAST Pro Series Moscow by feigning ignorance BLAST / Simon Wilson YouTubeYouTuber Simon Wilson was able to infiltrate BLAST Pro Series Moscow showing how easy it is to get into a top CSGO event. Even though BLAST events bring some of the biggest productions and crazy pyrotechnics to Global Offensive tourneys, their events have previously come under scrutiny for various elements in regards to its format, stream decisions, and issues with past event tickets. As the tournament organizers prepare to launch their BLAST Premier global tournament series, they might want to look at tightening up security since it seemed way too easy for a random content creator to gain access to the worker’s entrance of their big event. In a September 23 video called “Moscow, Russia with no money” Wilson gave himself the challenge of sneaking into a local esports tourney without raising alarms. “That is quite possibly the easiest thing I have ever sneaked into in my life,” Wilson said as he cleared the worker’s entrance with a few standard techniques: “be happy, smile, confidence and be loud.” The ruse didn’t stop there. From the inside of the Central Dynamo Stadium, he caught the opening commentary for a forZe/AVANGAR match, but he wasn’t satisfied with the high view he so happened to stumble on. Probing to see how far he could go, Wilson was eventually stopped at a security check-in. (Timestamp at 9:04 for mobile viewers) But the setback wasn’t anything a quickly fabricated story couldn’t solve: “Oh my god, he didn’t even want to deal with me in the end, so he just let me go.” Tagging along with random event staff he met on the way, the YouTuber eventually found himself in a press area where refreshments were being served. After being “watered and fed very well” by the event, he finally made his way to the ground floor of the arena where he was able to catch all the action in the BLASTZONE, aka the best seats in the house. A ticket that close to the stage would cost a CSGO fan p.6.600, or about $103 USD, but Wilson was able to get there with a couple of smiles and handshakes.

  • YouTube finally adds separate tabs for live streams and Shorts on profiles – Dexerto

YouTube finally adds separate tabs for live streams and Shorts on profiles YouTubeYouTube has finally added a long-awaited feature for live streams and Shorts on the platform: separate tabs on profiles. Videos will now be separated by upload style, making it easier to navigate. With YouTube expanding from regular video content to TikTok-style Shorts and full length live streams, it has gotten increasingly complicated to navigate the platform. Shorts, live streams, and regular videos would be thrown into the same collection of videos on a creator’s profile, and it was tedious flicking through them to try and get to the content you wanted to see. However that’s all changing with YouTube finally implementing separate tabs for regular videos, Shorts, and live streams on October 27. “Based on your feedback, we’re beginning to roll out separate tabs for Shorts, live streams, and longform videos on all channel pages,” the company told users on October 27. “We’ve heard that this will make it easier for viewers to discover the kinds of content they’re most interested in when exploring a creator’s channel page, so we’re excited to bring this to you all!” It’s now split into three categories: Shorts, Live, and Videos. The first one will only have the minute-long videos. The second one will include all live streams — currently active, scheduled, or previous archived broadcasts. The last one will be the old-school, video only YouTube. Shorts and live streams will no longer appear in the videos tab starting from October 27 with the new tabs being shipped out across all devices in the coming weeks. The feature has been praised by some of the platform’s biggest stars like MrBeast, Ludwig Ahgren, and Marques Brownlee.

  • YouTube shuts down IShowSpeed’s India stream for “policy violations” – Dexerto

YouTube shuts down IShowSpeed’s India stream for “policy violations” IShowSpeedYouTube has terminated IShowSpeed’s most recent ‘in real life’ (IRL) streams in India for “policy violations.” However, it’s not totally clear what caused it. Darren Watkins, also known as IShowSpeed, a 19-year-old American streamer, is one of the most popular names in the streaming industry these days. On his live broadcasts, the streamer has interacted with some of the world’s most prominent figures, including football stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar, as well as global entertainment icons like Kim Kardashian and Drake. On the other hand, Speed is known to travel the world and engage in irl streams for his followers, demonstrating the culture of countries such as Japan and Scotland. Now, the streamer has arrived in India, one of the most talked-about countries he desired to visit due to his obsession with Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli and the Tunak Tunak Man (Daler Mehndi). Consequently, Speed arrived in Mumbai, India on October 12, 2023, and was spotted zipping around in a taxi. Later, he collaborated with the Indian rapper MC Stan in a freestyle session and even played cricket on his stream. On the following day on October 13, Speed was hosted by the “Tunak Tunak” singer Daler Mehndi at his residence in New Delhi, where the two jammed to his hit track. However, due to “Policy Violations”, YouTube abruptly terminated the three-hour broadcast on October 12 and the one hour stream on October 13. Here is what fans believe to be the primary cause for it. IShowSpeed’s India stream gets suspended by YouTube Fans are speculating that this is due to the copyrighted Bollywood music that IShowSpeed played during his taxi ride in Mumbai and the Daler Mehndi hit at his residence in New Delhi. Both the songs that he played in the taxi, namely Yo Yo Honey Singh’s Blue Eyes and Akon’s début Bollywood single Chammak Challo are owned by the record label T-Series. During the broadcast IShowSpeed avoided playing copyrighted songs on the car radio, he ended up playing them on his speaker, which is the main theory behind the takedown. However, Speed also danced to the tunes of Tunak Tunak with Daler Mehndi on October 13, where he eventually ended up playing several other copyrighted tracks owned by the same record label. This led to another suspension of his stream, although this time it was due to violating YouTube’s policy on “spam, deceptive practices and scams”. It isn’t a permanent ban or anything like that, but Speed will have to be careful moving forward as strikes in quick succession can lead to a bigger problem. However, he was recently unbanned by Twitch so he might have a fallback.

  • YouTube rolling out long-awaited Clips feature for streams and videos – Dexerto

YouTube rolling out long-awaited Clips feature for streams and videos Pexels/YouTubeYouTube has announced that it will finally be implementing a clips feature for videos in the near future and that it’s currently testing it out with smaller content creators, before it moves on to a more widespread release. For years, the YouTube community has been begging for a clips feature to be added to the site, in order to allow for an easier way to find small parts of longer videos, similar to what Twitch has had for a while. Now it seems like the higher ups at the video sharing site are finally listening and it won’t be too long before the communities wants will be answered. On January 28, YouTube announced that it is testing out a clips feature for their website. According to a post on the YouTube support page, the feature will allow users to clip out five-to-60 seconds of someone’s video, whether it be a standard video upload or a stream, and then share it to others through a link. There’s an experiment coming to a limited number of gaming channels soon – Clips! Get the details here: https://t.co/IJoGkM8fEk — YouTube Gaming (@YouTubeGaming) January 28, 2021 Over on Twitter, Head of Gaming Creators at YouTube Lester Chen shared a gif of the feature in action, showcasing just how users will be to clip out a section of video and share it with the world. Of course, it remains to be seen how easy the feature will be to use once it actually launches, but it’s still nice to get an idea. In terms of when the feature will roll-out to everyone, YouTube says that it’s currently testing the feature with smaller content creators before it launches it worldwide. Unfortunately, there’s no indication about who will actually have it for the time being or how soon it’ll launch across the world. Today we are launching an experimental version of Clips on YouTube. Check out videos on the Creator Insider channel and test it out yourself! Clips are 5-60 sec, shareable, segments of content (Live/VOD) that live on top of the original video. More info: https://t.co/5fJyorxjrj pic.twitter.com/DVWNQ2BoEx — Lester (@Chen) January 28, 2021 It’s also worth pointing out that, at least while the feature is in the testing phase, it’ll only be available on desktop and Android devices, but YouTube says it plans on bringing clips to iOS devices in the near future, but it’s unknown whether or not that means it’ll be ready on the platform in time for its full launch. All in all, it’s nice that YouTube is finally rolling out this long-awaited feature, especially considering Twitch has had something similar for a good while now. Here’s hoping the rollout is smooth and quick.

  • YouTube Rewind 2018 PewDiePie | Where was he? – Dexerto

YouTube Rewind 2018 PewDiePie | Where was he? The hugely anticipated annual YouTube Rewind video has been released! The video commemorates the music, people, videos and moments that defined the year 2018! YouTube Rewind Fortnite Gamers, at least most of them, will be delighted that Fortnite played such a prominent role in the YouTube Rewind 2018 video. Ninja, who is considered to be the face of Fortnite, is heavily featured. The cultural phenomenon has drawn in more than 125 million players. This is on top of being one of the most profitable games ever made. Rewind 2018 Scene The YouTube 2018 rewind starts with Will Smith, who has been a much talked about figure in 2018. He states that if he controlled Rewind that he’d want Fortnite and Marques Brownlee. This sets up the scene of the Fortnite Battle Bus which has an array of stars on it. Ninja is driving the Battle Bus. The stars then jump from the bus, a la Fortnite, and eventually meet around a campfire to discuss what should be included in the 2018 rendition of YouTube rewind. YouTube Rewind PewDiePie The topic that is dominating the rewind video is PewDiePie’s exclusion. Ninja vs PewDiePie Ninja and PewDiePie are two of the biggest Internet stars of all time. PewDiePie has the most YouTube subscribers whilst Ninja has the most Twitch followers. Some would argue PewDiePie is actually bigger than Ninja. Therefore, that raises the question, why is Ninja in YouTube Rewind 2018 and PewDiePie isn’t? It’s a fair question, which most people know the answer to. PewDiePie Controversies PewDiePie has had numerous controversies over the past few years. These are well documented and won’t be discussed further here. It’s a very divisive topic and everyone has their own opinions on it. It is very likely because of these incidents that PewDiePie didn’t feature. There is another layer to it though, whereby even if YouTube were actually big fans of PewDiePie (their actions suggest they aren’t) that including him in their yearly rewind video would create negative press. At the end of the day YouTube is a business that relies heavily on good PR. Including PewDiePie in the video invites the media to criticise the organisation. The Swedish YouTuber also didn’t feature in the 2017 YouTube Rewind video. PewDiePie Reaction PewDiePie is rather busy in his subscriber battle with T Series. It is currently projected that PewDiePie will lose his top spot. However, high profile figures have been backing the YouTuber to try and reverse the tide. As of writing he is 467,000 subscribers ahead! Read More: PewDiePie vs T-Series Live Subscriber Count However, PewDiePie did make the time to post a review for the video. At 3:11 of the video on the shelf in the scene by JaidenAnimations there is a hidden message. There is submarine followed by a picture of two fingers being held up. Finally, to the right of that is a picture of the letter P. JaidenAnimations essentially confirmed the easter egg which was met with approval by PewDiePie himself. • UPDATE: YouTube Rewind 2018 video on course to break dislike record – Dexerto

UPDATE: YouTube Rewind 2018 video on course to break dislike record YouTube / M35 Web DesignThis year’s YouTube Rewind was met with intense dissatisfaction from personalities across the internet. Now, the video is on track to become one of YouTube’s most disliked uploads in history. As of December 7, YouTube Rewind 2018 has a massive dislike to like ratio, with almost three and a half million dislikes in comparison to 1,300,000 likes. YouTuber and Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem took note of this disparity and did some research, revealing the video to be on par with one of the most disliked videos in history – the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare trailer. “It’s safe to say the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare trailer will no longer be the most disliked video on YouTube,” KEEMSTAR wrote. “‘Cause 2018 YouTube REWIND will surpass it in the next 12 hours!” It’s safe to say @CallofDuty infinite warfare trailer will no longer be the most disliked video on YouTube. Cus 2018 YouTube REWIND will surpass it in the next 12 hours! pic.twitter.com/hHDSSdAwgL — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) December 8, 2018 However, many users noted that the Infinite Warfare trailer was far from the most disliked video on the platform; instead, Justin Bieber’s infamous ‘Baby’ music video has taken that title, with well over nine million dislikes. Jake Paul’s ‘It’s Everyday Bro’ music video comes in at second place with over four million dislikes, with the Infinite Warfare trailer pulling behind in third with over 3,700,000 dislikes. Be that as it may, it’s safe to say that the 2018 YouTube Rewind video could surpass Infinite Warfare as the least disliked non-music video on the platform, if users continue to smash the thumbs down. Multiple YouTubes have since lashed out at the video, including popular creator ‘PewDiePie,’ who slammed the project and speculated that its massive dislike ratio arose from dissatisfaction from YouTube’s community. UPDATE: YouTube Rewind 2018 has now surpassed Jake Paul’s ‘It’s Everyday Bro’ to become the second most disliked video in YouTube history, with over 4,700,000 dislikes as of December 8. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most-disliked_YouTube_videos
