  • YouTuber Joe Weller gears up for fight with surprising opponent – Dexerto

YouTuber Joe Weller gears up for fight with surprising opponent Urban Pitch / Joe Weller, YouTubePopular YouTuber Joe Weller may be gearing up to touch gloves with Jamaican soccer player Jeremy Lynch, as hinted at by a Tweet published by Lynch’s freestyle soccer group ‘F2 Freestylers’ Twitter account. F2 posted a possible poster for the bout on December 26, which featured Weller facing off with Lynch in what appears to be a mock boxing match. While no concrete date has yet been set for the potential fight, the poster claims that the event is “coming soon,” leaving fans to speculate as to its outcome – and its inception. Although no recorded beef has been noted between the YouTuber and soccer player, Weller posted a picture of himself and a masked individual in a gym on December 23, outfitted with boxing gloves and athletic gear. With the poster now published, fans can assume that Weller was teasing his upcoming fight with Lynch – which he has yet to publicly speak out on. This wouldn’t be Weller’s first time in the boxing ring, though; the YouTuber faced off with social media star Olajide ‘KSI’ Olatunji in February of 2018, just ahead of KSI’s eventual bout against Logan Paul in August. Coming soon… :tornado_cloud: Who do you think is behind the mask? :rolling_on_the_floor_laughing: pic.twitter.com/XyRKiIOxHA — Joe Weller (@joe_weller_) December 23, 2018 Weller’s match against Lynch could likely mark an upcoming video for F2’s YouTube channel, which features a slew of freestyle soccer tricks, pranks, and other such content. However, with the KSI vs Logan Paul rematch on the way, it could mark a timely prelude to the battle – although their fight has yet to see a solid date, either.

  • YouTuber Deji under fire for allegedly faking more family drama – Dexerto

YouTuber Deji under fire for allegedly faking more family drama Deji, YouTubePopular YouTuber Deji Olatunji is inciting mass speculation from his fanbase, after posting a video in which he claims to have allegedly been thrown out of the house by his parents. Deji uploaded a short video on February 11, which showed the YouTuber being locked out of his home by his father, who angrily accused Deji of dirtying the house and staying up too late. Deji later uploaded a second video from his car, where he claimed he’d be staying at an AirBnB in a stable while he attempted to patch things up with his family. However, many fans aren’t buying his story, claiming that Deji’s second video was filmed from inside the garage of his home. Additionally, Deji stated that he didn’t “even know if this was a joke anymore” when being locked out of the house, prompting further speculation from his viewerbase that the whole scenario could be a prank. This wouldn’t be the first time Deji has wrangled his family into drama, either; the YouTuber’s parents appeared in a video in early January, claiming that their home was being targeted by angry fans in the midst of Deji’s feud with older brother KSI. KSI was also allegedly kicked out of the house on Christmas day at Deji’s behest, after a series of now-deleted audio recordings of the incident went live on social media. While the two have since squashed their beef, it looks like Deji is encountering an entirely new conflict with his parents – if their feud is even real.

  • YouTuber gets copy striked for using his own voice – Dexerto

YouTuber gets copy striked for using his own voice SmellyOctopus, YouTube / Public Domain PicturesA YouTuber by the name of ‘SmellyOctopus’ is just the latest case in a string of YouTubers having their own content claimed on grounds of copyright infringement – this time, for using his own voice. SmellyOctopus posted a video to Twitter on January 8, which showed a claim on his nine-minute livestream from a company called ‘CD Baby’ for allegedly using content owned by music label ‘Global Publishers Canada, Inc.’ Here’s the catch; the YouTuber was using the stream as a means to test his audio equipment, meaning that his voice marked the only audio throughout the entirety of the broadcast. So apparently your voice can be copyright claimed on YouTube. I was testing my mic filters on a private stream and after I was done it got claimed by CD Baby. Really @YouTube @TeamYouTube pic.twitter.com/k7EwoPGwSn— SmellyOctopus (@SmellyOctopus) January 8, 2019 Additionally, both the stream and the subsequent automatic upload of the video were marked as ‘private,’ leading to understandable frustration from the YouTuber. “You hear that?” SmellyOctopus said of the offending segment. “That’s my voice. …so, apparently, ‘CD Baby’ owns the right to my voice. I should probably get that fixed, or, YouTube needs to fix their shit.” This isn’t the first time a YouTuber’s original content has been claimed on copyright grounds, either; popular YouTuber and music artist ‘TheFatRat’ had his own song stricken from the platform by a user named ‘Ramjets,’ due to a bootleg of the track that had been remixed by another artist. ‘TheFatRat’ noted that ‘Ramjets’ had little to no contact information, leading to a frustrating wild goose chase in an attempt to release the claim. Although YouTube eventually settled the issue, other YouTubers have since expressed mass dissatisfaction with the site’s copyright system, calling for a change to the algorithm – which ultimately favors the claimant over the creator. YouTube has since explained the strike against SmellyOctopus’s video as a mistake with the system’s Content ID tool, stating that CD Baby has released the claim. To clarify, this isn’t something that CD Baby initiated — this was a mistake with the Content ID matching tool. As soon as they were made aware of the claim, they released it. — Team YouTube (@TeamYouTube) January 10, 2019

YouTube terminates hundreds of accounts in response to major pedophile scandal TechCrunch / Video BlocksYouTube have finally given a response to their site-wide pedophile problem, which was uncovered by YouTuber ‘MattsWhatItIs’ in a chilling video on February 17. While YouTube has suffered from dangerous and pedophilic content for some time, the site has since given a decisive response to this recent exposure of apparent predatory culture across the platform. YouTube addressed the issue in reply to YouTuber Philip DeFranco’s video on the subject, where they claimed that they have terminated over 400 problematic channels – and even reported certain commenters to the authorities. “In the last 48 hours… we’ve disabled comments on on tens of millions of videos,” YouTube stated. “We’ve also terminated over 400 channels for the comments they’ve left on videos, and reported illegal comments to law enforcement.” YouTuber Matt ‘MattsWhatItIs’ Watson uncovered the issue during a video in mid February, where he noted that he was able to find suggestive videos of young girls within five clicks on the site. That’s not all; Watson also found himself in what he called a ‘wormhole’ of problematic content, which featured a plethora of disturbing comments targeting underage girls featured in the videos. Since Wattson’s video went live, a number of notable companies have halted their ads on the platform altogether, after being made aware that their ads were being featured on such videos. YouTuber admits to using “incest clickbait” to get views touchdalight, YouTube / Adobe StockControversial YouTuber ‘touchdalight’ went live in a video rant against Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem on December 21, where he admitted that he uses a startling tactic to pull in viewers. Touchdalight openly admitted to using what he called “incest clickbait” in his thumbnails to get views, claiming that he regularly passes off his 18-year-old friend as his little sister in order to profit from his audience’s apparent disgust. “Yeah, no shit, I use incest clickbait,” the YouTuber stated. “It’s funny for me. I literally pretend my 18-year-old friend is my sister and people literally get triggered about my shit, and I get money and I get views.” Touchdalight went on to call out KEEMSTAR for criticising his content, calling him a “massive pussy” and an “old ugly man” due to his own YouTube show, Drama Alert, where he covers current events within the internet entertainment realm. KEEMSTAR went on to clarify his stance on touchdalight’s content, admitting that while he doesn’t support the attacking of another creator’s channel, he doesn’t understand YouTube’s current drive to delete ‘problematic’ videos while apparently glossing over channels such as touchdalight’s. Touch by the light clarification. pic.twitter.com/y6If0zDRHO — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) December 21, 2018 “I just don’t understand how his channel is unaffected but some of these others are,” KEEMSTAR explained. “I’m not trying to get his channel taken down, I’m trying to understand why.” This debacle follows YouTube’s purging of hundreds of sexually suggestive videos by alleged ‘family-oriented’ channels, after the content was picked up by commentator ‘PaymoneyWubby.’ Since then, YouTube has placed a strict handle on adult content – but their methods have been widely decried by YouTubers across the platform.

  • YouTube takes strict stance against conspiracy videos with new algorithm – Dexerto

YouTube takes strict stance against conspiracy videos with new algorithm YouTube published a blog post on January 25 that revealed their new method to shutting down conspiracy content on the platform – by limiting recommendations. In the blog post, YouTube took a hard stance against such videos that deny historical events, promote “miracle cures” for major illnesses, and make false claims about scientific evidence (a la flat-earthers). YouTube admitted that, while such content doesn’t violate their community guidelines, it could spread harmful misinformation to users across the site, thus prompting direct action. https://youtube.googleblog.com/2019/01/continuing-our-work-to-improve.html“…we’ll begin reducing recommendations of borderline content and content that could misinform users in harmful ways,” YouTube said of the issue. “…we believe that limiting the recommendation of these types of videos will mean a better experience for the YouTube community.” YouTube went on to claim that their algorithm will affect less than one percent of content across the site, and will not remove the offending videos completely. https://movieweb.com/youtube-shooter-dead-california-4-wounded-victims/Additionally, YouTube revealed that their upcoming algorithm relies on both machine learning and actual employees, who are trained using the site’s guidelines and “critical input.” YouTube is set to roll out this change “gradually,” with the algorithm being introduced to countries outside the US as the system becomes more accurate over time. The content creator uploaded a video to his channel at midnight on June 19, titled “I’m sorry.” In it, he talked about the idea of killing himself inside the first minute, and hasn’t been in contact with friends or family since. Etika went on to discuss the mistakes he believes he has made in the past, but some of the most worrying words from the upload came in the text he attached to it – the video description. “I mislead so many of you, I manipulated, I lied, I shifted blame… I don’t know what awaits me on the other side, but I’m ready to face it,” he wrote in the description. Etika added: “As far as we know, there is no life after death. My time ends now, but if there is a way for me too, I’ll send you all as many blessings as I can from the other side.” The YouTuber admitted that he regrets the “edgy” persona he has built on social media over the years, after controversial statements landed him with bans on Twitch in 2018, and he was even arrested during an Instagram Live video after an anti-semitic Twitter rant earlier this year. Police have been searching for Etika ever since the video was uploaded, according to esports consultant Rod Breslau and YouTuber DoubleA_Charged on Twitter, with his phone reportedly going straight to voicemail for a number of hours. Fans of the content creator will be well aware that this isn’t the first time that he’s threatened suicide, after posting a number of worrying messages to his Twitter account on April 16. the description on the video is extremely distressing those who know Etika have reached out to him, and I have reached out to those who know him for updates pic.twitter.com/9s2ylrFCYw — Rod Breslau (@Slasher) June 20, 2019 Police have been called and they’re searching for Etika. pic.twitter.com/zWNkEJxVqt — nut-job (@DoubleA_Charged) June 20, 2019 Etika previously mentioned that his “next mental breakdown” would be around June 20, as highlighted by KEEMSTAR on Twitter, which has led some people to question whether or not this is a distasteful planned stunt. • YouTube launches new gaming section and scraps YouTube Gaming app – Dexerto

YouTube launches new gaming section and scraps YouTube Gaming app YouTube announced on September 18 that YouTube Gaming will now be enveloped under the main site, as well as scrapping the YouTube Gaming app, which they admit didn’t work as well as planned. According to YouTube, over 200 million people watch gaming related content on their website everyday, but the platform on which they do so is about to change considerably. YouTube Gaming, a ‘standalone’ app that was launched in 2015, was intended to be a separate destination for all these gaming content lovers, but YouTube admits it wasn’t the best, because not everyone fully understood its purpose. Now, the Gaming category will reclaim a spot on the main site and application, “launching a new Gaming destination to give gamers a home on YouTube”, the website says in the announcement. They explain how the new ‘destination’ will work, as it will now personalize the content, and will show “top live games and the latest gaming videos from your subscriptions”. The page itself is somewhat similar to how rival Twitch organizes its own ‘Browse’ page, with each specific game on new game pages. For example if you want to watch Fortnite, you can simply click on the Fortnite page and all related content will be in one place. YouTube Gaming will now also work hard to promote up and coming content creators and streamers, something it’s previous app was failing at. Head of YouTube Gaming, Ryan Wyatt, explained to Polygon: “The problem is, if you didn’t have the app, or you weren’t using the gaming hub to kind of like discover this content, creators weren’t as discoverable.” He even directly credits Twitch with some inspiration, saying, “Twitch does a really good job with game discoverability.” But creator discoverability is also important to YouTube, which is why they are launching the new “On The Rise” section, which will promote a new gaming content creator each week. We also wanted to cast a bigger spotlight on Gaming Creators that are still up and coming. We’re happy to introduce Gaming Creator on the Rise. The Creator will be featured in the main trending tab on YouTube every Sunday and on the Trending tab for gaming for the entire week. pic.twitter.com/RlroXpbOux — Ryan Wyatt (@Fwiz) September 18, 2018 Wyatt hopes that YouTube will become the number one destination not just for gaming video, but also livestreaming – a crown worn comfortably by Twitch at the moment. He explains that outside of Ninja, the biggest gaming content creators, for example Markiplier and PewDiePie are on YouTube. And even though Ninja is known for his Twitch content, he is also the fastest growing gaming creator on YouTube, uploading his stream VOD’s to his channel. With Fortnite and other battle royale’s booming, plus the ever-present Minecraft and other classic games still very popular on YouTube, the future is bright for YouTube Gaming, and it’s creators.

  • YouTube is cracking down on “dangerous” Bird Box challenge – Dexerto

YouTube is cracking down on “dangerous” Bird Box challenge YouTube have updated their community guidelines to prohibit videos that depict “dangerous or emotionally distressing pranks or challenges” from the site. The changes come in the wake of the ‘Bird Box challenge’, which is named after the Netflix movie of the same name, which sees the protagonists use blindfolds as they attempt to avoid looking at the supernatural entities who kill those that see them. The film sparked the challenge on YouTube and other social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, where people put on blindfolds and attempt to complete everyday tasks without the use of their sight. The challenges quickly took a dangerous turn, with controversial YouTuber Jake Paul uploading a video that showed him driving a car and walking across a busy street while blindfolded, while a teenager in Utah crashed her car into another vehicle while attempting the stunt. In a statement, YouTube said it was “home to many beloved viral challenges and pranks, like Jimmy Kimmel’s Terrible Christmas Presents prank or the water bottle flip challenge. That said, we’ve always had policies to make sure what’s funny doesn’t cross the linto into being harmful or dangerous. “We’ve updated our external guidelines to make it clear that challenges like the Tide pod challenge or the Fire challenge, that can cause death and/or have caused death in some instances, have no place on YouTube.” The Google-owned site’s new guidelines also extend to pranks, with Youtube stating that they were banning “pranks with a perceived danger or serious physical injury. “We don’t allow pranks that make victims believe they’re in serious physical danger – for example, a home invasion prank or a drive-by shooting prank.”

  • YouTube gives surprising response to Rewind dislike debacle – Dexerto

YouTube gives surprising response to Rewind dislike debacle YouTubeYouTube is still running damage control since it released its 2018 YouTube Rewind that was immediately met with overwhelming dislike and ire from all reaches of the internet, quickly becoming the most disliked video in YouTube history. The 2018 YouTube Rewind took the title of the Most Disliked Video as of December 13 after little speculation on its potential to break the record. Soon after the video was bestowed with the not-so-prestigious honor, YouTube posted a Tweet in an attempt to make light of the situation. When YouTube was met with the initial tidal wave of negativity, many waited to see what the response from the video-sharing website would be to either amend or dismiss the issue. Apparently, what YouTube offered wasn’t what fans were hoping for. “Thanks to the creators that took part in Rewind, and the community that responded,” the company said. “We hear what you’re saying, and we want to make next year better for all of you. Watch this space!” Thanks to the creators that took part in Rewind, and the community that responded. We hear what you’re saying, and we want to make next year better for all of you. Dude we got like 17 days left [to 2018]. Make a new one…,” said a user. Similar comments flooded the tweet’s thread. No word yet on what YouTube meant by making “next year better” but the company definitely has more than enough feedback to pull from.

Deji vs Jake Paul The VOD of the fights will be of particular interest to the fighters themselves, as KSI and Logan Paul have already agreed upon a rematch, set to take place in early 2019. The two will be casting a keen eye over the footage to see what possible weaknesses they can exploit, to avoid another draw in the rematch. Logan Paul also has one eye on a possible UFC debut as well, but he will need to focus on becoming a boxer first, at least capable of taking down KSI. KSI also plans to fight professionally, sticking with boxing. However, whichever of the two lose the rematch, it may well kill their professional fighting ambitions before they really begin.

  • You can now get a degree to become an influencer – Dexerto

You can now get a degree to become an influencer Unsplash: dole777Those who are interested in becoming influencers can get an official degree from South East Technological University in Carlow, Ireland. The term “influencer” has been thrown around in mainstream media for years. As we approach 2030, the idea of an influencer is becoming less of a dream for just a lucky few and more of a reality for the masses. With platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter/X, there are endless avenues to post content on… All of which have the potential to turn a profit for those who are the most dedicated and have original ideas. Some creators are also paving the way for a new generation of employees, centered around the idea of being an “influencer.” There is already evidence of companies beginning to use the platform to seek out potential candidates and get their product to the masses. The influencer market size has more than doubled from 2019, with the market being estimated at 21.1 billion U.S. dollars. Profits in the billions of dollars will require more than just one-off courses to achieve, which is exactly what South East Technological University is attempting to capitalize on. An influencer degree is more than meets the eye Their influencer degree seems to be centered primarily around marketing and how to market oneself while keeping up with latest trends. The best example of this can be found on TikTok, which has seen the rise of numerous users becoming some of the most popular creators on the platform. “We knew there was a space and need for this, we just needed to develop the course into a Bachelor’s degree and get it ratified,” Irene McCormick, a senior lecturer at the university, told the Washington Post. Other universities such as USC, Cornell, Duke, and Chapman have offered similar courses, but they are centered around one-offs instead of being combined into an official degree. South East Technological University is set to bring on 40 students to the program next year. However, McCormick is expecting it to grow with the popularity sparked by the university’s summer course, which was taught by viral TikTokers and field experts. As the influencer industry grows, there is more opportunity for degrees like the one from South East Technological University.

  • Yodeling Haley is down to fight Valkyrae after historic Creator Clash boxing match – Dexerto

Yodeling Haley is down to fight Valkyrae after historic Creator Clash boxing match Instagram: valkyrae, yodelinghaleyTikTok star ‘Yodeling Haley’ made history by fighting in the first-ever women’s influencer boxing match at Creator Clash… and she already has her eyes on another possible opponent. Creator Clash has made its mark on the influencer boxing scene in a huge way. Taking place on May 14, Creator Clash sold out all 10,000 seats in the Yuengling Center and sold over 100,000 pay-per-view streams. Overall, the event raised a whopping $1.3 million for charity — the primary concern of the entire ordeal. That staggering amount of money isn’t the only thing putting this combat sports showdown on the map; Creator Clash also held the very first women’s influencer boxing match between TikToker Yodeling Haley and Twitch streamer ‘JustaMinx.’ However, Haley wasn’t initially slated to take part in the historic bout. Content creator and Creator Clash organizer Anisa, who is also the wife of YouTube star ‘iDubbbz’ — one of the primary minds behind making the event happen — was actually set to get in the ring, first. Unfortunately, she suffered a concussion, prompting iDubbbz to reach out to Haley in her stead… but it was Haley who had reached out, originally. “I had reached out before, and I said I wanted to do it, and [iDubbbz] said, ‘Oh, we’re full, but maybe next time,’” the TikToker recalled in an interview with us. “And then, Anisa had gotten a concussion, and there was room for me to fight. So, December was when I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is real.’” View this post on Instagram In the beginning, Haley didn’t know just how serious boxing could be… but she soon understood just how intense the sport actually is once she started training in February. “I feel like I didn’t really understand the severity of what boxing really was,” she admitted. “But I was like, it could be fun! Me and my friend had both DM’d him and said, ‘Oh, we wanna join!’ We thought it would be cool, not thinking how intense boxing was. We just thought it would be fun. It turned out that it was very intense, but I did enjoy myself a lot doing it.” Yodeling Haley wants more women to box Haley faced off against JustaMinx for a historic bout that shook the Yuengling Center. She fought fiercely for four rounds before referee stoppage crowned Minx the winner by TKO. This was a massive historical moment for the still-budding world of influencer boxing — and Haley is absolutely here for it. “I think more women should get into boxing,” she said. “It is a male dominated sport, but it’s really useful, and I’ve gotten so much stronger. I’ve learned so much. I would definitely encourage more women to start getting involved in sports like boxing.” Seemingly in response to her match with Minx, a slew of other female influencers have taken a keen interest in stepping into the ring — including YouTube star ‘Valkyrae.’ When asked if Haley would be down to face off against the streamer, Haley had one thing to say: “Sure!” “I think that’s really cool,” she added. “I’m really glad that me and Minx have kind of inspired more female influencers to get involved.” Yodeling Haley responds to JustaMinx’s boxing praise Although Minx ended up walking away victorious, she had nothing but praise for her opponent, who she claimed had knocked out her contacts. In a YouTube video, Minx notably said: “She fought insane. She fought incredible. That girl honestly took the W.” While Haley was certainly flattered by Minx’s praise, she admitted that she was a little intimidated by her Irish opponent, and isn’t sure she wants to take on the ‘Gaelic Goblin’ again if she continues to box. “I think that was very sweet of her to say,” Haley responded. “I think Minx was also equally as terrifying. I don’t know if I was even that scary, but it was nice of her to say that I was. With her mouthguard that looked like teeth, that was pretty scary looking. It looked like she was really happy to be beating me up. That was pretty funny to look at, but she was amazing. She was awesome. I’m really glad she was my opponent. I love her.” A TKO victory for @JustaMinx what a win for the Twitch streamer#creatorclash pic.twitter.com/OMpw02Oboq — Dexerto (@Dexerto) May 14, 2022 Learning from losses Haley isn’t certain that she’ll take on another boxing match in the future. During our interview, the TikToker said that her mother isn’t too keen on letting her get back in the ring — but a week out from the event, she’s beginning to come down with the boxing bug again. If she were to get back to the sweet science, she has a better idea of what she’d do next time and says she learned a lot from her loss to Minx. “I watched iDubbbz’s video, where he said that he really learned a lot from his losses,” she began. “I would agree. I think I learned a lot from losing, about what I could have done better. I do think that one you get in that ring, a lot of training or game plans, or whatever I was planning on doing in that ring — the second you’re really faced with someone swinging at you, you sort of forget, and it’s just muscle memory. “When I was sparring I would think, ‘Okay, I need to be doing this,’ and I would do it. But when you’re really getting hit and in a life or death situation, it’s like I forget everything. If I were to fight again, I know what to do more.” We’re not sure where Haley’s boxing journey will take her next, but one thing’s for certain: She made a huge mark on the history of the sport, and that’s not something anyone can take away from her.

  • Yet another YouTuber has filmed a dead body in Japan’s Suicide Forest – Dexerto

Yet another YouTuber has filmed a dead body in Japan’s Suicide Forest Quorygore, YouTube / Logan Paul, YouTubeYep, you read that right – Logan Paul isn’t the last YouTuber to have entered Japan’s ‘Suicide Forest’ in the hopes of filming a shocking vlog. Indonesian YouTuber ‘Qorygore’ has received massive criticism after traveling to Japan’s Aokigahara ‘Suicide Forest’ in what appears to have been an explicit venture to discover the bodies of deceased persons – not unlike YouTuber Logan Paul, who faced similar backlash after filming a body for a vlog in early 2018. In fact, Qorygore even admitted to taking inspiration from the massive YouTube star, calling himself “Logan 2.0,” upon finding a decaying corpse amongst the foliage. https://coconuts.co/jakarta/news/youtube-takes-japan-suicide-forest-video-indonesian-youtuber-qorygore-amid-internet-outrage/ “No dead bodies, no fun,” Qorygore stated of his venture, going on to joke about the body he and his friends had discovered near the end of the vlog. While the video garnered a reported 575,000 views before ultimately being deleted, several duplicates have since sprung up across the platform. However, Indonesian citizens are taking issue with Qory’s vlog, with some calling his publicity stunt “sick” and “fucked.” HOW SICK IS THAT — izzzy (@vngnc) December 4, 2018 “I think the video is wrong because Qorygore is clearly trying to gain views from this video — and it is a sponsored video,” one Indonesian Twitter user wrote of the debacle. “He deliberately went looking for views at a place where finding people committing or have committed suicide is common. HOW SICK IS THAT?” As of December 5, no known legal punishment toward the YouTuber has been doled out. Despite Logan Paul’s similar scandal in the beginning of 2018, he has since managed to find massive success on the platform, earning a reported $14.5 million and even fighting in a massive pay-per-view YouTube boxing match.

  • Yes Theory’s Ammar reveals how he ‘nearly died’ in brutal car crash – Dexerto

Yes Theory’s Ammar reveals how he ‘nearly died’ in brutal car crash YouTube: Yes Theory[jwplayer lIlbeLYm] Yes Theory’s Ammar Kandil has released a video explaining, with footage, the gruesome car crash that he says nearly left him dead. Yes Theory are known for living life on the edge. Though they might not always be putting their lives on the line, their ‘Seek Discomfort’ slogan embodies the way they live, constantly looking to do things that push them out of their comfort zone. Ironically, though, this car accident came at a time when Ammar had decided to opt-out of seeking discomfort — and the star claims he’s lucky to be alive. In a video posted to YouTube on September 7 titled ‘grateful to be alive…’, Ammar recounts the lead-up to his crash, what happened, and even shared footage and phone calls from the immediate aftermath. Ammar said that he was planning on doing his first parachute jump of 2020 in preparation for his “dream stunt” — but all was not quite right when he arrived, saying that as he was walking into the drop zone with his parachute on, someone crashed their landing. Ammar says that based on that and other factors, he decided not to jump that day, getting off the plane and getting in his car to head home. On his way back to Los Angeles, he said, he was hit in his back tyre and immediately lost control of the car, hitting a light pole and the car rolled “maybe 6, 7, 8 times,” thinking in his head that “this is it.” Ammar says that somehow he was fine, and immediately got out of the car and FaceTimed fellow Yes Theory member Thomas Brag, before showing footage and images of his Jeep showing signs of damage in just about every direction. The YouTuber added that he just had a couple of scratches on his hand, and that the fireman that turned up called him “one lucky son of a b**ch” for being able to walk out of the car. Ammar said that nobody else was hurt in the accident, and the irony of him abandoning his parachute jump and ending up getting hurt anyway clearly isn’t lost on him. He does say, though, that he felt at peace in the moment because he has lived his life the way he wants to, a very thought-provoking takeaway from the whole experience.

  • Yes Theory’s new documentary lets you choose how much you pay – Dexerto

Yes Theory’s new documentary lets you choose how much you pay Yes Theory/YouTubeYouTubers Yes Theory have released their latest documentary which allows the audience to select what they pay to gain access and watch the feature film. Yes Theory is a popular YouTube channel comprised of Matt Dajer, Ammar Kandil and Thomas Brag. The notorious trio have built their brand around the motto ‘seek discomfort’ in a bid to promote a lifestyle that challenges people to do just that. Leading by example, their YouTube channel is flooded with audacious yet inspiring videos; seeing them accumulate a following of over 4.1 million subscribers. Their first documentary saw Kandil bungee jump over the Grand Canyon alongside Will Smith — showing the 24-year-old overcoming fears and living by the brand’s ethos. As you’d expect, a documentary of this scale attracted big-money investment from YouTube and was promoted as a YouTube Originals documentary. Fast-forward 10 months and the trio have taken a different approach in funding their latest feature escapade. Titled ‘The Lost Pyramid’, the documentary details their journey through El Mirador (the lost city of Maya) to reach the summit of La Danta — one of the largest pyramids in the world. 600A project of this scale required meticulous planning and financial commitment, and as such, Yes Theory has taken a different approach to reimbursing their investment. Viewers are asked to contribute anything from $1 to gain access to the documentary. By adopting a ‘pay what you want’ strategy, Yes Theory hopes to make their content more accessible regardless of financial income. In a YouTube video titled “Our $70,000 Experiment”, Thomas Brag explains how this is an “experimental approach” and has asked for community support to help the documentary flourish. How to watch Yes Theory’s ‘The Lost Pyramid’ documentary Heading over to their website will greet you with a trailer for the feature piece and a figure representing the ‘average price paid’ by viewers of the documentary. A $5 donation (or the cost of a Starbucks coffee) is the suggested price. However, viewers contributing $100 or more will have their name inputted into the final credits of the video when it is uploaded to their YouTube channel. After you have made your donation, a link to the video will be sent via email and you will have 72 hours to finish watching.

  • Yes Theory address fan concerns after backlash to NFT announcement – Dexerto

Yes Theory address fan concerns after backlash to NFT announcement YouTube: Seek DiscomfortYouTube collective Yes Theory has addressed fans’ concerns after a sizeable backlash to the announcement that they would be creating an NFT. NFTs have become a hugely popular topic in recent years, with digital artwork and other forms of blockchain-based assets climbing to be worth millions of dollars. As a result, we’ve seen more celebrities and creators look to capitalize on the growing market, especially in the form of digital memberships, and Yes Theory are the latest big names to make that move. They announced that they would be crowdfunding the capital to create their ‘Project Iceman’ documentary, after turning down a $1.25m offer so as not to lose creative control over the project. While they were met with backlash, the group decided to directly address the criticism and questions being fired their way. Read More: How to buy Logan Paul’s 99 Originals NFT – Firstly they spoke about the environmental impact, saying that they made sure to research exactly how they can do as minimal damage as possible, opting to use the Polygon blockchain, and stated that they would be offsetting the minimal environmental impact they do make. They also clarified that fans won’t need any crypto wallet or to jump through certain hoops as you do with more traditional NFTs, making it as easy and accessible for their committed fans to purchase their NFTs, which are being sold as premiere tickets and to fund the project. Despite the explanation, many of the comments still aren’t sold on the idea of NFTs being needed to help fund the post-production of Project Iceman. “I love you Yes Theory,” said one commenter. “I’ve bought merch six times. But I HATE this idea!” Another said: “I would legit much rather you guys do a kickstarter and give us rewards like an Iceman t-shirt, a photo book with BTS of the documentary, a cool hoodie, a signed dope as heck Iceman poster, absolutely anything else … no one wants to show someone a photo on their phone with proof that they pledged money early.” Yes Theory offer alternative for NFT critics Yes Theory have since released an additional statement amid the ongoing backlash surrounding their latest NFT endeavor. The YouTubers acknowledged their fans’ concerns and are now offering an alternative way for them to get involved, which won’t require the purchase of an NFT. “After listening to suggestions from the community on how to make this more accessible, we felt that the best way to move forward was to create a way in which people could assist the project and get the benefits of watching the early online premiere, but not through the purchase of a NFT,” they said. “We’ve decided that out of the 10,000 tickets that we will be making available, half of them (5,000) will be Regular Tickets that can be purchased through the Seek Discomfort website. They will not be NFTs, but will provide the same benefits as the NFT ones.” “We believe this way we can break the barriers that would prevent someone from participating and supporting this amazing film on the making.” It doesn’t seem as though Yes Theory are backtracking on their NFT plans – but are at least offering concerned fans a different way of getting involved.

  • Yes Theory find crazy luxuries during four day stay in world’s nicest airport – Dexerto

Yes Theory find crazy luxuries during four day stay in world’s nicest airport Matt Dajer and Thomas Brag, two members of the YouTube collective known as Yes Theory, gave fans an inside look at the world’s most luxurious airport when they hit the gym and took a splash in the pool at Singapore’s Changi Airport. Yes Theory are a group of YouTubers who take on crazy adventures and challenges as part of their content, and frequently travel around the world showing off the amazing locations and incredible people they find along the way. While flying back from Australia, Matt and Thomas decided to attempt a challenge based on the life of Mehran Nasseri, who lived in a French Airport for 18 years. The Yes Theory boys had no intention of living in Changi Airport for that long, they hoped to last four days without being kicked out or arrested, and inside found an airport that was more like a luxury hotel than a departure lounge. After a terrible night’s sleep on the benches for Matt and Thomas, the pair decided to take a look at the amenities this incredible airport had to offer, and found time in their 96 hour stay to get a pump on at the fully-equipped gym. Of course, working out can be strenuous, so Yes Theory decided to recover in the spa, with both boys opting for a professional massage to alleviate the aches and pains that had come from sleeping on hard benches and a gym session, before heading to the cinema to catch a Pirates of the Carribean showing. Named the world’s most luxurious airport for a reason, the lads were stunned to find a swimming pool built on to the side of the terminal, with the pair making use of it, and even ordering themselves lunch which they happily ate at the side of the pool. Their stay in Changi Airport wasn’t all plain sailing though, with both Matt and Thomas concerned that airport security would catch wind of their plan, and eject them from the premises – or even worse, arrest them. Those fears almost become reality at 3:30AM on the morning of day three, when a security guard asked the pair for their passports and boarding passes, only to let them carry on, despite airport rules claiming they could only remain inside for 48 hours. Despite originally refusing to check in to the fancy hotel built into the airport terminal, the YesTheory crew eventually purchased access to two of the nap rooms, finally finding a bed to rest their weary bones. While Changi Airport may have all the fancy amenities you could imagine to make your stay pleasant, Yes Theory were ecstatic to leave Singapore and return to California, but agreed that their run-ins with the airport security did make them feel that airports were safe, and that suspicious behaviour is picked up on and checked.

Jake now boasts an undefeated 5-0 record and he’s seeking another opponent for an upcoming match, calling out some of the biggest names in the combat sports world. Yella Beezy pranks Jake Paul with group of guys wearing ski masks Texan rapper Yella Beezy pulled up on the budding boxer with a squad of friends all wearing ski masks, as though they were getting ready to deliver a divine beatdown on the YouTuber for some unknown reason. Luckily, it was all just a practical joke — but Beezy claims that Paul “was about to take off running” when he saw the group walk up to him. The entire ordeal ended in laughter for everyone involved, with Jake admitting that he had no clue what was going on but was certainly ready for trouble. “Look at them — they’re in ski masks!” a shocked Jake laughed. “Bro, look — there are eight people! And you were all looking like this,” he continued before mimicking the group’s overly-serious and intimidating walk toward him. Beezy and Jake ended the encounter with a hug, making for a surprisingly wholesome moment to end the unexpected prank. Click here if TikTok fails to load. Yeezys signed by Astrid Wett appear on eBay for over £5k after Sidemen Charity match A pair of Yeezys signed by OnlyFans star and influencer Astrid Wett has appeared on eBay listed at £5k after signing them at the Sidemen Charity match. After 2022’s tremendous success, this year’s match was even bigger in almost every way, selling out the entire London Stadium, capable of holding up to 62,500 fans, all while raising millions for charity and breaking its previous viewership record as the most-viewed live-streamed sporting event on YouTube. Some of the biggest influencers were in attendance on the pitch, including the king of YouTube MrBeast, and currently three of the world’s biggest streamers Kai Cenat, IShowSpeed, and xQc. The game kicked off, and the goals came fast, where eventually the scoreline was settled at 8-5 at the end of the 90 minutes, giving Sidemen FC another win in their books. Astrid Wett signed Yeezys listed on eBay Off the pitch there we a ton more influencers watching the game, where among them in the VIP section of the stadium sat Instagram star, TikToker, YouTuber, and OnlyFans model Astrid Wett. After the match, one fan was determined to get an autograph from Wett. However, with nothing to get the signature on, they resorted to giving her their shoe to sign. Not only that but as it turned out, the fan was wearing a pair of Yeezys, which are priced at hundreds. Completely shocked, the OnlyFans star was first hesitant to sign the expensive shoe, before eventually going through with it. Now, over a week later since the match, the shoe has been found on eBay, and it’s listed for thousands. With two days left on the listing as of September 14, the bid was up to £5,100 (approx. $6,300 USD). The Yeezys were also signed by TikToker Max Khadar. Nevertheless, it’s fair to say many were left stunned by the price at which they were selling.

Yanet Garcia hits back at ex-boyfriend Censor’s breakup explanation video Weathercaster Yanet Garcia has uploaded a four-part response to ex-boyfriend and newly-retired Call of Duty pro Doug ‘Censor’ Martin, who claimed that their breakup occurred due to conflicts over revenue from his YouTube channel. Her response, which she posted in a series of photos to Instagram, revealed that she had worked hard to become financially independent, and claimed that she did not rely on anyone to help build her now-blossoming career. She likewise claimed that Censor had wanted to monetize their love by vlogging their relationship, as Censor mentioned in his video explaining their breakup. “…obviously, my ex-partner has decided to change unconditional love for money,” she wrote, “or monetizing it as social platforms now call it.” She then said that she preferred to keep private matters to herself instead of publicising the details of their relationship, and ended her message by stating that matters of the ‘entertainment world’ should not be taken too seriously. The album features collaborations with Travis Scott, Pharrell, Young Thug, Lil Yachty, DJ Drama, A$SAP Rocky, and Lil Wayne. One fan went as far as to say that AI could be behind the collab. “The only thing that can explain him still being in artist’s albums is AI tech,” wrote one fan on Twitter/X. Another expressed their deep frustrations, writing, “This is definitely a whole pack of dogsh*t man.. xxxtentacion feature too?? It’s 2024 lol stop exploiting that man.” DaltDisney echoed the sentiment. “Cudi is including an xxxtentacion feature on his album in 2024? i dont even like x, but let the dude rest christ.” The performer “has been dead for near 6 years can we stop putting him on albums,” added another user. In March 2021, Kid Cudi admitted to feeling “pissed and heartbroken” that he never got to work with XXXTentacion and Juice WRLD. “Loved what they brought to the game. • Yandere Dev banned from Twitch after grooming allegations – Dexerto

Yandere Dev banned from Twitch after grooming allegations Twitch/Yandere SimulatorYandere Dev has been banned from Twitch following allegations that the Yandere Simulator developer attempted to groom a 16-year-old girl. Alex Mahan – better known as Yandere Dev – is a 35-year-old man who has been working on Yandere Simulator full-time since 2016 after first pitching the idea on 4chan two years prior. Throughout development, Mahan has run into several controversies but the grooming accusations that surfaced in September 2023 were by far the most serious yet. A 16-year-old girl outed him by posting multiple recordings and transcripts of him interacting with her inappropriately. The game developer apologized soon after calling it a “huge f**king mistake,” but by then several of Yandere Simulator’s voice actors and artists had already withdrawn their support. Now Twitch has followed up a month later with its own response. Twitch bans Yandere Dev one month after grooming allegations As confirmed by StreamerBans, Yandere Dev was banned from Twitch on October 30, 2023. This “violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service,” follows allegations that the developer groomed a 16-year-old girl in late September. This is the first time the developer has been banned from Twitch although Yandere Simulator itself has been prohibited on the streaming platform since 2016. The length and exact trigger of the ban are unknown to the public although many both in and out of his community can’t help but feel the timing is not a coincidence. Twitch is the first major platform to take action against Yandere Dev with his YouTube, Twitter, and Patreon accounts all still being active. As of October 31, 2023, Yandere Dev is earning over $1,200 USD a month through Patreon alone. Although Mahan addressed the initial allegations he has yet to acknowledge the Twitch ban on either social media or his personal blog. Yandere Dev now has the opportunity to appeal the ban through the platform’s official channels if he believes it was unjust or Twitch’s community guidelines were not broken.

  • XSOLEIL star Meloco Kyoran reveals why she joined NIJISANJI EN, not JP – Dexerto

XSOLEIL star Meloco Kyoran reveals why she joined NIJISANJI EN, not JP YouTube: Meloco KyoranNIJISANJI EN’s Meloco Kyoran is a self-professed long-time fan of the VTuber agency. The XSOLEIL star had to get in by any means necessary — so when she couldn’t join the JP branch anymore using her native tongue, she put everything into making EN. NIJISANJI EN’s branch has a diverse range of backgrounds with their ever-growing membership. Not all are from the ‘Western world’, with a wide range of languages and cultures represented under the one roof. One such member is Meloco Kyoran. The XSOLEIL star, who debuted just a month ago, is a native Japanese speaker. It’d make sense for her to try and join the main Japanese branch of NIJISANJI, but it didn’t pan out that way. She was answering questions from fans on stream, when one asked why she debuted in the EN branch versus the JP branch, using her native language. It was a pretty simple explanation: there wasn’t a clear path for her. “Why am I not in JP and debut in EN instead? There’s a lot more people curious about that compared to what I thought,” she mused, according to a translation. “Since my debut, I’m still lacking in my English skills, and I’m a streamer who has a strong desire for self-approval. “Why this is the case is my life has always been a battle royale, and then while I’m in the middle of it, NIJISANJI JP is having open auditions. In the last two years or so, they’re like ‘we closed our normal format of audition.’” While she did not directly address this, it potentially hints at NIJISANJI relying on their internal Virtual Talent Academy (VTA) program to get new Japanese members, rather than open auditions like they run for other branches. The VTA trains VTubers from the very beginning, starting with basic streams until they feel confident enough to progress into the fully-fledged NIJISANJI ecosystem. The program is now starting to push new talents into the spotlight after its June 2021 launch. Meloco just missed the boat and was in a bit of limbo, so she turned her eyes to the newly debuting NIJISANJI EN, which was holding auditions around the same time. “A lot of things happened — NIJISANJI EN was born and there was an audition for the first generation,” she said. “I was a kid who had been watching NIJISANJI all this time, so I had to join so badly. I wanted to join.” Meloco revealed she initially auditioned for the first generation of NIJISANJI EN, but was knocked back due to a lack of experience, she claimed. “I applied for the first generation audition. I’ve never talked to anyone about this — not even my genmates. I applied for it, but I didn’t get through. “I was dropped… I think because I had no entertainment [or streaming] experience, and I was just a little girl [who was a fan] — what can a little girl like me do? Of course I didn’t get through, I was just a dreamy little girl. “I was a little shocked after I didn’t make it through, and I couldn’t watch any NIJISANJI EN for a while after. Every now and then I’d see clips but yeah.” She then spent the following months working hard on her English skills to be more proficient, and she finally made it through for the seventh generation of NIJISANJI EN with XSOLEIL. “I was surprised when I learned — I was like ‘I’m getting accepted?’ I was really happy. After doing this and that, I made it into NIJISANJI EN — that’s the story.” Now she’s thriving, with many complimenting Meloco on her ability to pick up English so quickly after just a short few years, and continuing her rapid ascent as the fastest-growing VTuber of the wave.

  • xQc’s Twitch gambling forces fans to make big change in following his streams – Dexerto

xQc’s Twitch gambling forces fans to make big change in following his streams Twitch: xQc/UnsplashxQc fans are struggling to keep up with the Twitch star’s gambling. So much so, that one xQc fan page has had to ‘discontinue’ sharing any more updates about his gambling habits. Twitch streamer xQc sent shockwaves across the streaming community after revealing he had accepted a gambling sponsorship deal. Not only has he faced backlash from fans over the controversial decision, but he’s also had to defend himself against his fellow streamers. However, that hasn’t kept the popular content creator away from the slot machines. The complete opposite in fact, as he continues to gamble on regular occasions. xQc fan page suspends gambling updates As xQc’s gambling content increases, the popular Twitter fan page xQcUpdates has been keeping fans up to speed with all the latest news surrounding the streamer. However, on June 23, the page announced that it would be ending any news related to his gambling content as the team just couldn’t keep up with the latest updates. The fan page said: “Due to the amount of work that it takes to upkeep the gambling graph and update tweet, we will be discontinuing it from now on. We hope you can understand. Thank you.” Regarding Gambling Updates: Due to the amount of work that it takes to upkeep the gambling graph and update tweet, we will be discontinuing it from now on. We hope you can understand. Thank you. — xQcUpdates (@xQcUpdates) June 23, 2022 However, the news was met with a mixed reaction among Twitter users. For instance, one xQc fan who wanted to know more about his gambling progress begged: “Ahwwwww this was the one time I really wanted to see the stats. Please just one more before you log it off.” Yet, another argued that it would have been “borderline inhumane” for the team to try and take on the impossible task of covering “the gamba for the 7-hour” stream. The amount of work it would have taken to cover the gamba for the 7-hour session would have been borderline inhumane 💀 — nick (@ngtnick8) June 23, 2022 xQcUpdates will no doubt be sharing the latest news about the events that take place during his streams. However, any gambling-related content will be taking a seat for the foreseeable future.

  • xQc’s Twitch stats reveal the insane amount of days streamed since 2017 – Dexerto

xQc’s Twitch stats reveal the insane amount of days streamed since 2017 Unsplash.com: Caspar Camille Rubin/Twitter: xQcPopular Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has only taken 85 days off of streaming since the beginning of 2017, which is significantly less time off than the average worker. It’s no doubt that no matter what platform somebody broadcasts on, it takes a lot of time and dedication to grow a community as big as streamers like xQc, Pokimane, TimTheTatman, and NICKMERCS. Having tens of thousands of viewers to entertain can be exhausting, and many of the biggest creators take regular breaks. For example, NICKMERCS took almost every Sunday offline in 2021. However, xQc has not taken these kinds of reprieves from going live. Instead, he’s only taken 85 days offline since January 1, 2017 — which is significantly less than the average American worker. xQc has only taken 85 days offline since 2017 While xQc infamously started streaming League of Legends in 2014, it wasn’t until he began playing Overwatch professionally that he started to gain mass popularity on the site. Stat-tracking website Twitchtracker began following the French Canadian just before the start of 2017. While checking it out, we noticed that he has only taken an insane 85 days off of Twitch from the beginning of that year until now. For example, if an average American office worker receives four weeks off for holidays and doesn’t work weekends, that’s 124 days off every calendar year. It goes without saying that there are a variety of jobs that work long hours and weekends, but if you compare xQc’s time off to an average worker, Felix has worked 620 more days between 2017 and 2021. As you can see in the image above, Felix began taking fewer days off beginning in 2019, with just four days offline throughout the entire year. He continued his streak in 2020, with a total of 11 days offline. However, according to Streamerbans, every single one of those days offline was due to various bans from Twitch. However, the fact that he has hardly taken days off is not the only impressive part about xQc’s dedication to his channel: While an average American workday is 8 hours long, with a varying lunchbreaks, Lengyel has gone as long as just under 21 hours during a single broadcast. With over 10 million followers on his channel, it’s clear that what xQc has been doing over the years has paid off immensely. According to the Twitch leaks in October 2021, his dedication to creating content has paid off financially as well — to the tune of almost 10 million dollars.

  • xQc’s six hour battle with Dark Souls boss will go down in history – Dexerto

xQc’s six hour battle with Dark Souls boss will go down in history Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel is known as a former pro Overwatch player, popular streamer and now – as the victor of a six hour long battle with a boss in Dark Souls III. Notoriously difficult, Dark Souls’ boss fights are often regarded as one of the most frustrating yet rewarding experiences in gaming, and some streamers focus entirely on trying to defeat them. xQc, formerly an Overwatch streamer and pro player, has moved to more ‘variety’ streaming, where he plays various games – partly due to a suspension on his Overwatch account. Taking on the Abyss Watchers boss, one of the most difficult in all of Dark Souls III, xQc began the challenge when only two hours into a ten hour stream. It took him until he was almost eight hours deep before finally taking down the enemy, but not before numerous fails – and even his viewers doing their very best to distract him. Because xQc has text-to-speech donations enabled, viewers would send him annoying messages, like this one where the donation was simply the number seven over and over and over again. In another failed attempt, his controls messed up, leaving him helpless and at the mercy of the powerful boss. After countless fails, rages and different techniques attempted, the glorious moment when xQc finally took down the boss was met with pure elation. The popular streamer jumped for joy as his viewers spammed the mantra of “I was here” – acknowledging the significance of his victory. The Canadian has been growing rapidly on Twitch, even after his move to variety streaming, even attracting compliments from fellow streamer Dr DisRespect, who was impressed at the growth for a channel which is not mainly streaming Fortnite. xQc is on track to break into the top 100 most followed channels soon, and moments like this historic six-hour long boss battle are helping more viewers discover the sometimes controversial streamer.

With 10.8 million followers on the platform as of writing, he is regarded by some fans as the “king” of Twitch after taking the title of the most-watched streamer in 2020 and 2021. xQc’s housemate under fire for nearly dropping racial slur on stream Adept, Twitter / Respawn EntertainmentFollowing popular Twitch streamer ‘Pokimane’s’ use of an apparent racial slur, yet another streamer is coming under fire for nearly using racist language during a live broadcast. Twitch streamer ‘Adept’ is the housemate of popular broadcaster and Overwatch pro Felix ‘xQc’ Lyengel, with her own audience of over 47,000 followers on Twitch. However, the streamer is now coming under fire, after nearly dropping a racial slur during a March 15 broadcast of battle royale title Apex Legends. “Rez me, you fuckin’ *** – bitch,” Adept began, quickly switching her choice of words after nearly saying what appeared to be a racial epithet. Furthermore, Adept’s comments were directed toward a Bangalore player, one of two women of color in Apex’s cast of characters. Adept has since deleted all VODs of the offending stream – although a mirror of the broadcast remains available online. The streamer has since garnered a slew of criticism, with some commenters comparing the incident to that of popular YouTuber Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg’s “heated gamer moment” from a 2017 broadcast. • xQc’s G FUEL flavor revealed: The Juice – Dexerto

xQc’s G FUEL flavor revealed: The Juice G FUELG FUEL have announced a brand new flavor that brings Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel’s long-running meme to fans called: The Juice. Now the ethereal juice will take an actual form for xQc’s many fans. A former Overwatch pro turned streaming star, xQc has grown to become one of the most watched channels on Twitch. So far in 2021, the 25-year-old Canadian has been beating out the likes of shroud, ludwig, and Gaules in hours watched. It hasn’t been a meteoric rise, rather something that he has been building on since his pro days ended. Now the streamer is one of the most recognizable entertainers on the platform, with some of his iconic slogans breaching new markets. xQc has long been known for amping himself and his viewers to “get that juice,” that can now be a real thing thanks to his new G FUEL line. The flavor is launching on the same day it was revealed: April 7. “There’s no question that xQc has The Juice,” G FUEL Founder and CEO, Cliff Morgan said. “He’s easily one of the world’s most entertaining gamers and content creators to watch.” “We’re excited to take our partnership with xQc to another level and introduce our fans to a new refreshing flavor that’s inspired by xQc’s favorite fruits from the jungle.” G FUEL has created a ton of flavors in the past in collaboration with other notable celebs like Logic, PewDiePie, NICKMERCS, Summit1G, FaZe Clan’s Rug, and more. This mash-up with xQc was expected, especially after the company trolled him with a tangled mess before officially revealing the new flavor. The Luminosity Gaming star has 8.1 million followers on Twitch, 1.5 subscribers on YouTube, and over 900,000 followers on Twitter. The sheer reach of xQc’s fanbase could generate interest in G FUEL’s new flavor. • xQc hit with DMCA strike on Twitter for his own clip from a year ago – Dexerto

xQc hit with DMCA strike on Twitter for his own clip from a year ago Twitch: xQc/TwitterTwitch star Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has revealed how he had his Twitter account locked due to a DMCA strike on a year-old clip from his own stream. Content creators have always skirted the rules around copyrighted music, images, and video for the longest time, but in recent months, some companies have been stepping up their game and taking charge. This has led to a raft of issues for creators through DMCA strikes – the Digital Millennium Copyright Act – which can, ultimately, see them lose their accounts and face incredibly high fines. Some creators, especially on Twitch, have deleted their backlog of old content to avoid any DMCA strikes on their channels – to the dismay of many fans. But, in the case of xQc, he had his Twitter account struck down for an old 10-second long clip. The Luminosity Gaming member revealed that he’d had his Twitter account locked on December 29, tweeting out an image that showed the social media platform dishing out their punishment. “DMCA for a year+ old 10s clip from my own stream. Wonderful and well thought out system! Next stop? Jail!” the former Overwatch World Cup MVP captioned his post, in his trademark all caps style, of course. Many fans quickly replied with their concerns about him potentially losing his account and suffering a bigger backlash, with fellow Twitch star Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys saying she’ll see him there. DMCA FOR A YEAR+ OLD 10S CLIP FROM MY OWN STREAM. WONDERFUL AND WELL THAUGHT OUT SYSTEM! NEXT STOP? JAIL! pic.twitter.com/9bQjLfJmEV — xQc (@xQc) December 29, 2020 Pokimane was hit with a DMCA strike on Twitter recently herself because she tweeted “I love girls” as well as a TikTok to the song ‘Say So’ by Doja Cat. It could well be the case that these strikes have come through false claims – someone just wanting to troll creators – but there’s no way of knowing for certain unless the streamers reveal it themselves. Either way, it can be a long process to get rid of a DMCA strike on your name, so, they’ll have to be careful moving forward.

  • xQc’s dad chooses favorite female streamer in “unhinged” stream segment – Dexerto

xQc’s dad chooses favorite female streamer in “unhinged” stream segment Twitch: xQcIn a “unhinged” stream segment, xQc’s dad made a surprise appearance to choose his favorite female streamer. xQc is no stranger to incredibly odd and wacky antics on stream, but this one might take the cake for most “unhinged”, as labeled by viewers. During a normal stream, xQc left his desk to do something off screen, only to appear back dragging an extra chair into his streaming room, The content creator was then quick to introduce his dad as a surprise guest. This isn’t the first time xQc’s dad has appeared on stream, but only briefly, and by surprise. This time however, he stayed on for a whole segment on his stream. xQc would make his dad do something he has done before on stream, a “top female streamers world cup”, which is a bracket where you choose your favorite streamer until there’s one left standing. It’s quite clear xQc felt a slew of emotions as his dad picked his favorite streamers, some of which he personally knows. From embarrassment, shock, and even agreeing with his pick of Sasha Grey because of her “attitude”. Papa xQc interestingly immediately picked Amouranth when given the option, saying, “come on are you f***ing serious? Amouranth!” xQc quetions why, which he responds, “for a thousand reasons!” Eventually the massive bracket came down to a “grand final” of what is arguably the two queens of Twitch, Amouranth and Pokimane, which Poki won. The reason why? Because she is a fellow Canadian. Naturally, viewers on Reddit labeled it as one of the most insane things xQc has ever done on stream. With a comment aptly describing it, “doing this s*** with your dad, on stream, is unhinged.” Or, as another Redditor humorously put it, “least horny Quebecois.”

  • xQc’s explanation of his one taps in CSGO is pure gold – Dexerto

xQc’s explanation of his one taps in CSGO is pure gold Twitch/xQcFelix ‘xQc’ Lengyel is one of the most animated personalities on Twitch, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he decided to act out his one taps in CS:GO in the most hilarious way possible. While playing a round, the French Canadian streamer landed a beautifully executed one-tap onto an opponent. Even his squadmates were impressed with the Pog-inducing shot. After getting a call that the next target was hiding behind a truck, the former Overwatch pro went full-Rambo and charged at him only to get obliterated and the game to declare “terrorists win”. “Yea, behind the truck, dude,” he sighed before deciding to mime out how most CS:GO players fire their weapons in the game. “Most players,” he to indicate who he was impersonating. The 23-year-old then pretended to fire a gun, but with uncontrollable spread resulting in a change of weapons mid-firefight. “Me, I’m top-tier warlord, dude.” Felix then acted out his last CS:GO kill where he aimed steadily, lined up the shot and one-tapped the target, including the reaction of the player he shot. xQc fell back into his chair, pretending to have been shot in the face. The actor did such a good job, his headset even fell off in the process making the whole thing just a bit funnier. “One tap, dude!” the increasingly animated Lengyel added. While the Quebec broadcaster has been improving at CS:GO and can hold his own, but he still has a lot of work to do. In an August 25 stream, xQc had a comically bad round with his team going to a 5v3 to a 3v2 in just seconds. With xQc wanting to take a bit of a break from Overwatch citing the state of the game, it will be fun to watch how his CS:GO game progresses. Assuming he gets the right teammates.

  • xQc’s attempt to weed out Mario Kart stream snipers goes hilariously wrong – Dexerto

xQc’s attempt to weed out Mario Kart stream snipers goes hilariously wrong Twitch: xQcStream snipers are up there with some of the most annoying things that streamers have to deal with, but Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel couldn’t stop laughing when he tried uncovering them in a Mario Kart broadcast. As far as stream snipers go, xQc has got to be one of the most affected on Twitch, but that’s almost to be expected when you’re one of the most popular names on the platform. No matter what he’s playing or the attempts he makes to keep himself hidden, xQc will always have multiple snipers coming after him and hunting him down in-game. Now, it turns out even Mario Kart isn’t a safe space for him, as he found out in hilarious fashion during his January 21 stream. While streaming the iconic animated racing game, the Canadian star was becoming increasingly suspicious of how many stream snipers he was being swarmed by throughout the races. So, before a race started, he took it upon himself to speak to his stream and ask them not to move forward if they’re stream sniping. “Guys, Hold B, so you at least don’t go forward,” he asked of those who were listening. Then, as it started up, he reiterated the point once more, urging snipers to not go forward. Expecting maybe a small handful of the other players to stay still, xQc switched to the back camera — and when the race started, eight of the 11 opposing players started hopping around him at the start line, clearly having fun at his expense. Luckily, xQc saw the funny side, immediately dropping his head and laughing before backing out of the race, unable to speak through the laughter. Simply saying that he’s “done” and cracking up at the “bulls**t” he had to endure, even xQc couldn’t be mad at how his games were ruined, in disbelief at the level of commitment his viewers showed. While stream snipers in games such as Warzone, Fortnite and others must get increasingly frustrating, it’s impossible not to see the funny side of something like this — even if it does cost you some Grand Prix wins.

  • xQc’s attempt to be nice to Pokimane backfires hilariously – Dexerto

xQc’s attempt to be nice to Pokimane backfires hilariously Twitch star Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel’s attempt to ‘help’ Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys backfired spectacularly, after he tried to enlist the aid of his viewers to make a positive impact. As one of the most popular channels on Twitch, xQc commands a loyal following – with thousands of fans tuning into his daily streams and sticking around for hours, even when he falls asleep. Those viewers regularly roast xQc with their donation and subscription messages but they’re clearly fans in the first place, otherwise, they wouldn’t be there. But, when the streamer tries to use them for good, not all of them want to follow his lead. 550During his July 5 stream, xQc had been watching videos with his fans when he was given a link to a mini-documentary on the ‘story of Pokimane‘ – a fellow popular streamer with over three million followers, but who has also experienced controversy in the past. After watching the 17-minute video, the streamer couldn’t help but notice the like/dislike ratio was only a small advantage in the way of likes. Yet, after some chatters told him to refresh the page, the dislikes quickly took the lead as xQc’s viewers bombarded the video with even more ‘thumbs down’. Surprised by the ratio, he hatched a plan to get his viewers to ‘help’ Pokimane by adding a ton of likes. Addressing his viewers, xQc said: “You can do whatever you want in your free time, ok, you can revert your choice or cancel it – everybody, go to the video right now. Let’s see if we can make a positive difference on the world.” However, with this being xQc, things rarely go to plan as his chat decided to turn against him and add thousands more dislikes. Disappointed with how his viewers responded, the former Overwatch League pro returned to the video a few minutes to see if they had changed their minds in the meantime. Of course, they hadn’t, and things only got worse as the dislikes took a healthy lead. To make matters worse, xQc also noticed that his viewers had begun upvoting negative comments too. Unfortunately for xQc, his fans have only contributed to the disproportionately negative reaction – with, at the time of writing, dislikes leading the way by over five thousand reactions. It remains to be seen if Pokimane fans can overturn the deficit, or if the damage has already been done.

  • xQc’s attempt at WoW Classic “gold farming” fails miserably – Dexerto

xQc’s attempt at WoW Classic “gold farming” fails miserably Blizzard EntertainmentPopular streamer Felix ‘WoW Classic, but the scheme didn’t really work out as expected. EsfandTV has been playing the heck out of WoW Classic since release like a true pro, but xQc has only dabbled in the re-release of the online sensation since it came out in August, though he has logged many hours in WoW before. For some reason a lot of players like to give streamers free money and equipment in WoW Classic (and other MMORPGs) so Felix decided to take advantage of this to make his buddy EsfandTV some quick cash. xQc’s gold farming backfires At first, xQc seems to be rolling in dough, getting 50 gold for free in a trade from one of Esfand’s generous fans. Just after clicking the button to accept the trade, xQc accidentally also reset Esfand’s talent points on his Paladin, with the 50 gold he just made. After trying to run out of the room and escape his mistake, xQc returned and simply stared at the screen, trying to come up with a solution. Luckily, another Esfand fan quickly came in and offered another trade of 10 gold, which made the whole thing work out, from xQc’s point of view at least. “Hey boys, boys, that’s what I call: profit,” Felix proclaimed before doing his best impression of a Booty Bay banker (AKA transforming into El Goblino) and scampering away. Will Esfand be able to recover? Even though it costs gold to reset talent points in WoW Classic, Esfand should be able to reassign his points and fill out his talent tree to where it was before fairly easily. Read More: When will Scump return to Twitch? – On top of that, he’s also 10 gold richer, so it seems that xQc’s gold farming strategy actually worked, kind of. xQc hasn’t played WoW Classic on his stream since the game released in August and this display of his trading talents probably isn’t a good sign he’ll return any time soon.

  • xQc works out interesting new way of getting more viewers on Twitch – Dexerto

xQc works out interesting new way of getting more viewers on Twitch Robert Paul for Blizzard EntertainmentFélix ‘xQc’ Lengyel thinks he has found a great way of attracting more people to his streams on Twitch and, while it might look quite funny, we can’t help but think that he’s on to something! The Canadian streamer, who is best known for his professional Overwatch exploits, was playing the popular pirate MMO ATLAS when he came up with the crafty idea. “We’re going to wait until I get a thumbnail, so that everybody can see it. Ready?” he said. The 23-year-old then started to clench his fist and hold that in the air for a few seconds, before pulling on his own hair, pretending to be shouting at the game he was playing and pulling shocked faces for a few seconds in a hilarious clip. His idea was that people would be more likely to click his stream if they could see him looking to be doing something crazy, like smashing up his desk, rather than just a typical thumbnail playing a game. Twitch user gillslmao clipped the moment for other people to watch and named it “clickbait”. xQc has been trying out a number of games since he stopped playing Overwatch in November, after his account was suspended for a second time. One game that he dabbled with was Pokemon: Let’s GO, Pikachu!, but that didn’t last long after he had made a costly error. After streaming for 10 hours, he failed in his pursuit of catching Snorlax and shut down the Nintendo Switch software, only to reboot it and realize that he had not saved his progress. These fake thumbnails would be fitting for moments like that, though, as xQc has been known for having some of the best rages in the industry.

  • xQc weirded out by viewer’s bizarre body pillow of him – Dexerto

xQc weirded out by viewer’s bizarre body pillow of him Twitch: xQcOW / Twitter: ItsZoilPopular Twitch streamer xQc was left slightly creeped out after showing a picture of a viewer with a bizarre body pillow version of the streamer, saying that it “shouldn’t even exist.” Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has cemented himself as one of the most popular streamers on Twitch in 2020, dominating the list of the highest earning streamers for this year with his account of over four million followers. His dry sense of humor and honest reactions lead to clippable moments in almost every stream, and his viewers take that as an opportunity to send Felix some of the most bizarre things to see his thoughts on them, and this was definitely one of those times. The creator had been hosting a stream using the hashtag ‘xqcgift’ where fans could send Felix some of the gifts they received over the holiday season to see how he would react. Naturally messages were pouring in at an extraordinary rate. xQc reacts to bizarre body pillow While some shared that they’d received gaming themed art, tools, and wireless charges, xQc seemed a bit bewildered when he pulled up a picture of viewer ItsZoil alongside a body pillow designed to look like xQc – with some peculiar additions. “What the f**k is that man?” the streamer said, looking pretty weirded out. “Guys he’s had this for a while, this is just weird. That shouldn’t even exist. That shouldn’t exist. Whatever dude.” The chat had mixed reactions to say the least, with some agreeing with Felix that the pillow was weird, saying “yikes,” and “wtf is that,” though some other fans joked “where can I buy it.” He moved on from the moment pretty quickly, as there were so many links pouring in from fans who wanted to show him their Christmas gifts that it was impossible to keep up with the speed, so he couldn’t dwell on the body pillow for too long. The item of unknown origin was certainly bizarre, and it’s probably safe to say that xQc won’t be stocking it as official merch anytime soon.

  • xQc has wholesome reaction to TSM Myth’s perfect impression of him – Dexerto

xQc has wholesome reaction to TSM Myth’s perfect impression of him Twitch: xQcOW / Twitter: @TSM_MythTwitch star Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel reacted to Ali ‘TSM Myth‘ Kabbani’s acting chops, after the popular Fortnite player nailed a perfect impression of him. Overwatch pro xQc has an unmistakable personality that has largely become a staple of his streams. The gamer talks quickly, says “dude” a lot, and has explosive rants. But the Canadian could have been looking in a mirror when Fortnite streamer TSM Myth pulled off the perfect impression that nailed every little detail down – and he shared a wholesome reaction to it. Myth’s perfect impression During a stream on August 24, Myth was playing Fortnite, when he launched into his impression of the Canadian. “We’re going to be playing fuckin’ Fortnite, dude. I’m ready to have a really good stream today boys!” He also captured the culture that is prevalent in xQc’s chat. “Everybody please, fuckin’ Pepega Clap in the chat dude. Let’s go boys, let’s get crazy today dude!” Myth nailed down his body language as well, when he mirrored his scream “well!” as he motioned his hands in the same way xQc does when ranting. xQc reacts to Myth’s impression The Overwatch pro then played Myth’s impression of him during his own stream on August 24, and shared a wholesome reaction to it. Smiling, the Canadian pro was amused at how accurate it was and laughed as the Fortnite pro nailed the intricacies of his voice. When Myth brought up the Pepega Clap, xQc broke out into laughter. “That’s actually good!” he smiled. This isn’t the first time Myth has impersonated the Canadian streamer. Earlier in June 2019, the Fortnite player made his first attempt at doing an impression of the Overwatch pro. Clearly he’s improved, as the latest impression is almost dead on, and has come a long way from his first attempt, which was still funny in its own right. xQc continues to be one of the most popular streamers on Twitch with over 1.5 million followers at the time of this article.

  • xQc warns viewers to “get out” of MrBeast’s videos before the endgame: “So scripted” – Dexerto

xQc warns viewers to “get out” of MrBeast’s videos before the endgame: “So scripted” YouTube: xQc ClipsAmidst recent accusations of lying and manipulating footage, MrBeast can’t seem to escape the heat with xQc now claiming his videos are “scripted”. James ‘Jimmy’ Donaldson, known online as MrBeast, has been in hot water after fellow YouTuber and content creator Rosanna Pansino accused the philanthropist of falsely editing his videos. According to Pansino, MrBeast manipulated the footage in Creator Games 3 in order to misrepresent the winners. The accusations have caused a wave of viewers and fans to take sides in defense of their favorite creators. Now, streamer superstar xQc is weighing in on the drama, advising his chat to “get out” if they ever compete in a MrBeast video and make it to the “endgame.” Reacting to one of MrBeast’s latest uploads, xQc offered his warning once the final stretch of the challenge came about. “Chat… Guys, if you get selected to be in MrBeast’s video, I got you,” xQc began, before sharing with viewers his “number one tip.” “If you can get out, get out. Okay?” he said. “MrBeast’s endgames are so scripted and dumb. The dumbest s**t happens, just f****** go home, dude.” Not holding back, xQc continued, “If you weren’t in on the script, okay, you’re done. Go home, dude.” Despite xQc seemingly falling in line with Pansino’s claims, the latter has since removed all her posts surrounding MrBeast and issued an apology after receiving “thousands of death threats.” “I should have expressed my feelings privately and handled things directly,” Pansino wrote on Twitter. “I will be honest in that the thousands of death threats I’ve received today are a contributing factor, but I do also sincerely hear the feedback from so many of you.” Viewers rallied behind her, calling for MrBeast to hold his followers accountable with one person tagging him and writing, “You let your fans bully someone into retracting their own statement about THEIR story. That’s so lame.” With xQc now also weighing in on the drama and seemingly supporting Pansino’s claims, we will be sure to update you with any further news. As of now, MrBeast has yet to respond publicly about the allegations. In the meantime, be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

  • xQc warns YouTube they’re making a huge mistake removing ‘dislikes’ from videos – Dexerto

xQc warns YouTube they’re making a huge mistake removing ‘dislikes’ from videos YouTube / Twitch: xQcFelix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has warned YouTube against removing “dislikes” from the video platform, claiming that the downvote-button is actually one of the most important features on the world-famous Google-owned website. YouTube powerbrokers have announced they will be removing the website’s controversial “dislike” button in a bid to stop “dislike attacks” and harassment. The Google-owned platform has toyed with the idea of hiding or removing the downvote button for some time now, first floating the idea in 2018 — coincidentally, the same year their infamous YouTube Rewind video went on to become the site’s most-disliked video ever. The internet has been split over the recent YouTube decision, with many claiming it’s important to have video dislike counts be public. Among this side of the rift is popular Twitch star xQc who claims the move is a “moronic mistake.” According to the star Twitch streamer, the decision “doesn’t make any sense,” especially when considering how YouTube viewers actually use the dislike buttons. “This just isn’t it,” the French-Canadian star said after seeing YouTube’s announcement during his Nov. 10 stream. “If you stand for dogsh*t values, you’re an asshat, you say bullsh*t in your videos, why should you [get likes]?” According to xQc, the long-standing like-dislike system has become a vital part of the YouTube ecosystem, with many viewers relying on the counts. “If your views are dumb, and you’re a dumbass, the dislike counts tell people you’re a dumbass. Equally, all good things get likes and everyone can see that you approve. “If you take away this system, anyone can come in, and say anything. Whenever a corporation or brand comes out with a disgusting, trash video that is full of evil things that they’re promoting, they’ll still have a perfect 100% like ratio. “I don’t want to be over the top, but it’s wrong. YouTube has got this wrong. Surely they see that. Changing [a key feature] like this doesn’t make sense.” YouTube’s standing line is they’re removing dislikes to avoid “dislike bombs” and hate-fuelled harassment on videos, but the French-Canadian star said he isn’t so convinced this will change anything. He said, “No one asked for this. It really feels like someone got their ego hurt, so there’s panic.” Google is set to start all the YouTube changes from Wednesday.

  • xQc warns trolls after multiple swattings on his birthday: ‘Police won’t f**k around’ – Dexerto

xQc warns trolls after multiple swattings on his birthday: ‘Police won’t f**k around’ Instagram/xQcTwitch and Kick streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has issued a stark warning to trolls swatting him and sending the police to his old houses for a birthday surprise. xQc celebrated his 28th birthday on November 12, but the celebrations were in the crosshairs of trolls who tried to disrupt the festivities by getting him swatted. While the former Overwatch League pro wasn’t affected by the swatting attempts, those who live at his old residences were – and it turns out this isn’t the first year that someone tried pulling this stunt. During a recent broadcast, the French Canadian addressed those swatting him directly, warning that the police were not going to mess around and they would be held accountable for putting lives at risk. xQc urges viewers to stop swatting him on his birthday In a plea to the trolls swatting him, xQc explained that their attempts were not going as planned, because he no longer lives at the addresses being swatted. “This is the second year in a row that somebody tries to swat me on my birthday. You need to understand I don’t live there anymore,” he explained. “You’re sending the police to houses that I don’t live in. You’re endangering a bunch of people!” Lengyel continued on, saying how it was in the interest of everyone if the swattings stopped, warning that there would be serious consequences to those calling the cops on him. “For your own sake, it’s really bad. If someone happens it’s really sad. On top of that, the authorities are not gonna f**k around if something happens. I’m just telling you. This is loser behavior,” he slammed. Felix reiterated that he wasn’t affected by the swattings, and it’s not clear if the warnings were enough to make the trolls stop. xQc isn’t the only Kick streamer to get swatted recently. Last week Adin Ross was swatted while at the gym with fellow content creator HSTikkyTokky.

  • xQc Visited by Police Again While Streaming Due to Noise Complaint – Dexerto

xQc Visited by Police Again While Streaming Due to Noise Complaint Robert Paul for Blizzard EntertainmentOverwatch streamer Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel found himself faced with police again during a recent stream. The appearance of armed police on xQc’s stream might have appeared to be a “swatting” incident, but was in fact just the result of a noise complaint from his neighbours. “Swatting” is the act of calling the police and claiming that a highly dangerous situation is unfolding at a particular location. This results in a SWAT team responding accordingly, arriving at the location in question armed and expecting to deal with such a scenario. While the supposed danger might originally be invented, swatting itself can create highly dangerous scenarios – once armed police are in the mindset of potentially having to use extreme force to handle the situation, it only takes a small misunderstanding for things to turn deadly. Read more: More Details Have Emerged Regarding Overwatch League Expansion for Season Two This danger was tragically demonstrated in December of 2017, when a swatting incident resulted in the death of an innocent man. Several of the people involved are now facing charges. In this case, however, it appears the appearance of the police was instead due to a noise complaint. A couple of the officers were caught on xQc’s stream, which was still live. This isn’t the first time police have showed up during xQc’s stream, with a similar incident occurring on May 16. Fortunately for xQc, the two incidents of police arriving at his apartment both resulted from noise complaints, rather than something more sinister.

  • xQc waiting room Twitch channel is more popular than most streamers – Dexerto

xQc waiting room Twitch channel is more popular than most streamers Twitch, xQcOW/xQcOW_Waiting_RoomOne of the highest followed streamers on Twitch, Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, has a very dedicated community. They’re so dedicated that they have created a waiting room channel to hang out while he’s offline. Gaining his popularity from being a professional Overwatch player, xQc now showcases a wide variety of games like GTA RP, Jump King, and more to his 9.2 million followers on Twitch. With such a massive following, he’s formed quite the devoted community called the ‘Juicers.’ The xQc waiting room is growing rapidly Some of his fans have taken things up a notch by creating a Twitch channel that allows them to hang out on the platform while the creator is offline. Created at the end of 2020, the xQcOW_waiting_room live streams didn’t seem to start gaining traction until January 2021 when it saw its first few viewers, according to analytics website sullygnome. Starting their stream as soon as xQc goes offline and presumably ending it when he goes online, the channel rapidly grew in popularity after its first couple of months. Starting by playing the popular interactive game Marbles on Stream, it saw roughly 350 average viewers during its peak stream in February 2021 compared to less than 50 viewers the month before. Within a year, the waiting room has surpassed the majority of streamers on the platform in views as it is ranked 14,977 in views out of 107,281 total streamers. By the end of April, the unknown channel creator decided to change things up a bit and switch the stream to Just Chatting, likely making the change to the sound of rain soundtrack that it is now. Since experiencing a huge spike at the beginning of 2021, the waiting room has amassed an insane 37,000 followers. With that number, it has achieved over 870,000 views, over 380,000 hours watched, and almost 6,000 hours streamed on the platform. Whether or not xQc consistently follows along with the action inside the waiting room is a mystery, but he would be delighted to know his community has bonded together like this.

  • xQc uses pro FPS skills to escape Twitch ban for Jackie Chan nudity – Dexerto

xQc uses pro FPS skills to escape Twitch ban for Jackie Chan nudity Twitter, @xQc / Roger Birnbaum ProductionsWhen it comes to Twitch bans, few streamers are as experienced as the juice man himself, xQc. And, it seems that — and his professional FPS experience — is coming in handy, as he showed off perfect tracking to avoid a ban for… Jackie Chan’s nudity. Yes, you read that right. A naked (or, more realistically, almost naked) Jackie Chan was threatening Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel’s livelihood. But no, the beloved, oftentimes controversial Quebecois streamer was not going to let one of mankind’s greatest thespians kick him off Twitch. Instead of risking a sixth ban (you read that right too, as xQc’s last ban was his fifth, back in August), the man known as PVC, QVC, or any other combination of letters, simply refused Chan’s ways. Watching clips of Chan’s illustrious career as Hollywood’s greatest stuntman, the Juicer noticed Chan was down to his underwear. So, in a brilliant tactic and a show of rare FPS (first-person shooter) skill — xQc used his face to censor Chan’s buttocks and… manly parts. xQc dodges Twitch ban for naked Jackie Chan Avoiding the Twitch ban like a pro @xQc ft. Jackie Chan pic.twitter.com/e0RLE3vWO9 — Dexerto (@Dexerto) September 24, 2021 In an FPS, tracking is an invaluable skill. It means your ability to move your crosshair so that it stays on top of a moving target. In this case, xQc proved why he was able to turn pro in Overwatch, as he tracked Chan’s lower area perfectly. And, kudos need to be handed out to the incredibly popular Twitch streamer. As far as instantaneous reactions to potentially sensitive content go, xQc’s response was perfect. He didn’t flinch and he didn’t freak out and turn the stream off. No, xQc’s viewers came to watch him, so he refused to rob them of that experience — instead opting to let them continue watching him, simply in new places (where the sun typically doesn’t shine). With patented squeals of “Jesus” and “please” and “s**t, dude,” the strategic xQc succeeded on three fronts in this clip. Firstly, he successfully avoided any chance that Twitch could ban him for Jackie Chan’s delicate area appearing on stream. Secondly, he proved, with impeccable tracking, that his FPS skills remain intact. And, thirdly, xQc let his viewers know that he’s willing to put his face in sensitive areas to protect the sanctity of the stream. That’s why ban experience matters and that’s why the Juicer reigns supreme.

  • xQc in disbelief at unexpected video message from ‘To Catch A Predator’ host Chris Hansen – Dexerto

xQc in disbelief at unexpected video message from ‘To Catch A Predator’ host Chris Hansen Twitch: xQc/YouTube ScreenshotTwitch star Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel was left in laughter when he discovered that fans had gone out of their way to get him a personalized message from TV host Chris Hansen – especially as he took shots at ‘weebs’. Since swapping professional Overwatch for full-time streaming, xQc has become one of the most popular streamers on Twitch – racking up over 1.5 million followers. He can regularly be found raging at other players and reviewing memes with fans, providing plenty of entertainment with both. One meme in particular, the ‘To Catch a Predator’ with Chris Hansen, has come up on-stream during Lengyel’s reactions to YouTube videos, prompting some fans to shell out money for a personalized shout-out from the television host to xQc. During his August 22 stream, xQc had been browsing his own subreddit and discussing memes with viewers when he stumbled across one that stated that Chris Hansen had a ‘message’ for him. “xQc and chat, always remember to follow your dreams and get the juice,” he stated in a video, leaving the streamer with a grin on his face. Yet, Hansen wasn’t done there. “And weebs, why don’t you have a seat right over there,” referencing his iconic meme and promoting xQc to break out into a fit of laughter. The former Overwatch pro couldn’t help but rewind and watch it once again, finding hilarity Hansen’s message to ‘weebs’. “This is amazing, who did this dude,” added xQc before figuring out where it had come from. “Is this like one of those cameos where you pay them to talk or say something?” While he didn’t get any answers from his chat, with plenty spamming Anime emotes, the streamer had to go back and watch it a few more times. “That’s actually sick,” he stated, still clearly amused by the message, subsequent jokes and chat spam from his viewers. While xQc continued to laugh at the weeb message, he did manage to add a final compliment before switching to another meme. He concluded: “Jesus dude, that’s crazy.” While Cameo is an online service that allows fans to pay for messages from some of their favorite content creators, athletes, and online meme creators, getting a message from somebody you’ve watched is still something to be taken aback by.

  • xQc Uses a Tyler1 Rant to Explain Everything Wrong with Overwatch – Dexerto

xQc Uses a Tyler1 Rant to Explain Everything Wrong with Overwatch Twitter/xQcOverwatch streamer and former OWL player Felix “xQc” Lengyel has been vocally discontent with recent changes made to the game, and so took direct inspiration from the most anti-developer streamer there is – Tyler1. Tyler1 is somewhat infamous for his rants directed towards League of Legends developers Riot Games, so xQc took one of his classic rants an repurposed it to highlight everything he thinks is wrong with Overwatch currently. Blizzard have been frequently adding new Heroes, frequent patches and updates, but some persistent issues with ranked play and matchmaking also continue. Balance has been a major point of contention, as, like League of Legends, adding a new Hero can often result in ruining balance, or changing the ‘meta’ of the game too drastically. Recent additions such as Brigette or the new ‘Storm Arrow’ for Hanzo are not favorites of xQc, which he highlights with the use of Tyler1’s incredible rage. As Tyler1 becomes more and more incensed in the clip, xQc continues to lay out everything he thinks is currently wrong with Overwatch all the way down to ranked play – as Tyler1 shouts “I can’t quit!” Unfortunately, despite the popularity of Tyler1 and his often enraged complaining about Riot and League of Legends, it has done little to have his views heard. If anything, it has resulted in more dismissive treatment from the developers. xQc equally doesn’t necessarily have a good relationship with Blizzard, after he was given severe punishment for supposed infractions during his time in the Overwatch League, which eventually resulted in him being released from the Dallas Fuel. It doesn’t look like he wants to make attempts to get back in their good books anytime soon.

  • xQc unleashes on trash talking teammate during Rainbow Six match – Dexerto

xQc unleashes on trash talking teammate during Rainbow Six match Former professional Overwatch player Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel is an experienced trash talker himself, but when the tables are turned, the popular streamer knows how to deal with an in-game troll. xQc shifted to ‘variety’ streaming after his Overwatch account was suspended, meaning he has been playing all manner of games including CS:GO, Fortnite and now Rainbow 6 Siege. Like Overwatch, Siege is a team-based competitive shooter, where players are expected to communicate as a team in an effort to win ranked matches and progress to higher levels. Unfortunately, as is the case with most online games, not all of these interactions are positive, but xQc is well versed in voice chat ‘trash talk’. After his teammate, “Chuck3742”, calls Lengyel out for only having a single kill after three rounds, the streamer made him instantly regret his decision to speak out. Checking Chuck’s K/D ratio, which sat at a measly 0.1, xQc launched into a tirade, which was so perfectly executed it almost sounded rehearsed. “You have 0.1 K/D in ranked – you get a kill every time you die, 10 TIMES!” xQc shouted, continuing “you should not only uninstall your game, you should give your computer to a fucking local shelter or library!” It is these outbursts which have made xQc the popular streamer that he is, even after moving away from his primary game on Overwatch. His following continues to grow, showing viewers are there for his antics, rather than just the game he is playing. His actions have sometimes got him into trouble in the past however, with his most recent suspension for Overwatch believed to be for toxic behavior, according to xQc himself. Rainbow 6 Siege has possibly the strictest rules around toxicity, particularly for in-game chat. As of July 2018, Ubisoft is automatically banning players that use certain words in public chat channels, focusing mainly on racist terms.

xQc updates viewers as medical conditions worsen: “I’m bleeding from my ears” xQc (Twitter)xQc has taken a sudden break from streaming due to a severe illness, and he recently updated his fans letting them know that, after receiving treatment, he has ended up in an even worse state than before. On October 13, following a weekend of TwitchCon San Diego festivities, xQc missed a stream after letting his fans know via Twitter that he was sick. A day later, he posted another update in the form of a video where he explained he had tested positive twice and would report back with more updates. “Now, I’m getting absolutely obliterated. Breathing is fine, I have a headache, all my muscles hurt, it feels like getting attacked in the muscles,” xQc stated. Then, on October 21, xQc reported he had gotten over his initial illness but was now suffering from a double ear infection. He stated that both sides of his face were swollen and that it hurt to talk, chew, and lay down. xQc reports ear infection symptoms worsen Two days later, xQc would take to Twitter once more to provide yet another disheartening update. After visiting an Urgent Care center and receiving care, his symptoms have gotten even worse. “WENT TO URGENT CARE CUZ PAIN WAS UNBEARABLE AND WAS BLEEDING FROM MY EARS, GOT ANTIBIOTIC DROPS. USD THE DROPS, WOKE UP IN A WORSE STATE,” he wrote. “I’M SO SWOLLEN I CAN BARELY HEAR ANYTHING, I CAN’T CHEW OR TALK RIGHT. News of xQc’s illness comes during a wave of streamers and viewers reporting their own illnesses they contracted during TwitchCon despite regulations being put in place in an attempt to keep attendees safe.

  • xQc unamused as hilarious Google search trolls him with Ninja’s picture – Dexerto

xQc unamused as hilarious Google search trolls him with Ninja’s picture xQc/NinjaTwitch star Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel got an unpleasant surprise when he decided to do some research on who the most-subscribed streamer on Twitch is, only to be trolled by Google with Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins’ photo. [jwplayer Y7PB7YwV] xQc is one of Twitch’s most popular streamers on Twitch and, by our measure, he’s easily one of the most successful on the platform this year, raking in close to $2 million overall. Subscribers obviously make up a big part of that total amount, so you’re bound to find Felix on top of any ‘most-subscribed’ list for Twitch. Because it’s the end of the year and lists for the top streamers of 2020 are coming out, his chat urged him to search for exactly that. “Most subbed streamer? Who cares, subs are temporary, sub count can go up and down, it can go away,” xQc said in response. “It doesn’t define what you do or who you are. People who attach their personality, and their ego, and their confidence to some random digit number that goes up and down — because they need some random pixels to feel better.” Success doesn’t come without its struggles as they say, and the former Overwatch League pro found that out first hand when he finally gave in and did the search for his chat. Sure enough, his name popped right up at the top of the Google search results, but instead of a picture of himself, it was accompanied by a photo of Ninja, which is very ironic since that’s who Felix has been compared to over the years by his merciless audience. After initially looking proud when his name popped up, he quickly was at a loss for words for how badly he had been trolled by the search engine. With his chat predictably cracking up, xQc simply closed the window and went back to his Minecraft run, continuing his original train of thought after a bit of awkward silence. “In my opinion, if most of the basis of your self-confidence is from things that are outer, not from within, then you have no medium, you’ll never know what’s happening,” he reflected, trying to forget about the unfortunate search results. “You’ll always be guided by what others think, and then what?” Not surprisingly, Ninja didn’t crack our list of the top-earning Twitch streamers for 2020, considering he only recently returned to the platform after Microsoft shut Mixer down in June. Blevins still made out just fine though, reportedly making between $30-50 million from his streaming deal with the site, and the newfound freedom to broadcast wherever he pleases, which led him to re-sign with Twitch. Despite the hilarious comparisons that many have made of the two, xQc still has a ways to go if he plans on making the kind of money Ninja rakes in from streaming. Still, he is undoubtedly one of the most subbed-to streamers on Twitch, so you’d think Google would at least get his picture right. Maybe next year Felix!

  • xQc under fire for flexing wealth with “worst” Twitter response – Dexerto

xQc under fire for flexing wealth with “worst” Twitter response xQc/TwitchStreaming star Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has come under fire for a few baffling responses on Twitter/X where he’s been flexing his wealth amid some backlash. Despite the fact he’s become one of the biggest – if not the biggest these days – streamers around, xQc has always managed to find himself in hot water before long. The former Overwatch star was removed from the Dallas Fuel’s Overwatch League roster for multiple suspensions over controversial comments, he’s continually clashed with creators about his react content and not giving proper credit, and has also been under fire for taking a deal KICK following Twitch’s clampdown on gambling streams. He has, naturally, taken to his stream and social media channels to defend himself anytime trouble finds him. However, it’s his responses to a new bit of backlash that is creating more problems. xQc under fire for Twitter responses and flexing wealth The streaming star has come under fire after images of videos of him reacting to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine were posted on social media. Those videos have since been removed from YouTube, but xQc responded to one of the viral tweets criticizing him by posting a photo of him sitting with a suitcase full of money, captioned: “HUH?” His strange flexs didn’t end there, however. As further criticism came his way, xQc responded to another tweet with a photo of a diamond-studded watch, and another of him holding over $200,000 in casino chips. “27-year-old man flexing his wealth when met with criticism,” said one. “Do you have a PR manager? Does he hate you?” another asked. “This is the worst reply I’ve ever seen, why would post this,” quizzed another. “Omg, this is so tone deaf, why would you reply with this,” another commented. As it stands, the streaming star hasn’t said anything further on the criticism and his tweets are still up – and he’s still receiving backlash for them.

  • xQc explains how Twitter users who hate on streamers do more harm than good – Dexerto

xQc explains how Twitter users who hate on streamers do more harm than good Twitter / Twitch: xQcFelix ‘xQc’ Lengyel explained how Twitter users who hate on Twitch streamers and try to hold them accountable do more harm than good because they often get it wrong. xQc isn’t afraid to lash out at haters when he feels like they’re in the wrong. He did it in August 2021 when he blasted Twitter users for being “unreasonable” and claimed they act like “perfect individuals who never make mistakes.” Now, he’s done it again by maintaining that when they try to hold streamers accountable for various things, they often get it wrong. xQc watched a video of Nick ‘Nmplol’ Polom explaining how the LivestreamFail subreddit is good because it holds streamers accountable. He added his own thoughts and explained how Twitter is the “exact opposite” of that. “You know what’s interesting about this? Twitter is always the exact opposite,” he said. “They hold people accountable for things that they didn’t do because they want to achieve this. Twitter wants to achieve this. “They want to be like, ‘oh, let’s hold them accountable for what they did.’ But instead, they hold people accountable for what they didn’t do and celebrate people who did bad things. It’s just so weird, dude. It’s like a world upside down.” It’s been a hot topic in recent months. Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys also shared her thoughts on the issue recently. Poki claimed that ultra-loyal fans who rally the troops on social media are, for the most part, a positive force in the streaming community. xQc seems to disagree, though, and he’s not alone. However, he has criticized other communities in the past, too.

  • xQc urges Twitch streamers to stop using slurs amid Adin Ross accusations – Dexerto

xQc urges Twitch streamers to stop using slurs amid Adin Ross accusations Twitch: xQc / IG: Adin RossHours after Adin Ross was accused of saying homophobic slurs on YourRAGE’s broadcast, xQc urged all Twitch streamers to stop saying slurs and for their fans to stop making apologies for them. On April 12, Adin Ross was accused of saying a homophobic slur while dropping in on YourRAGE’s stream. The alleged incident didn’t happen with him on camera. However, some believe the voice in the clip bears a resemblance to his. YourRAGE insisted it wasn’t the case, claiming the person who said it was a “friend from high school” instead. His response sparked a debate, with some asserting it’s clearly Adin Ross and others shrugging it off as someone else. that was my friend from highschool not Adin Ross You FED. — FaZe YourRAGE (@YourRAGEz) April 11, 2022 Regardless, the clip appears to have sparked a reaction from xQc, who used it as an opportunity to urge streamers from all platforms to stop saying slurs of any kind and for their fans to stop making excuses for them when they do. “Stop saying slurs and stop making apologies for your f**king ‘creators,’” he said in a tweet that went viral on April 12. “We ‘used to’ do a lot of things in the past. We don’t live there anymore. No one is being soft. You are being dumb. Holy.” STOP SAYING SLURS AND STOP MAKING APPOLOGIES FOR YOUR FUCKING “”CREATORS””. WE “”USED TO”” DO A LOT OF THINGS IN THE PAST. WE DON’T LIVE THERE ANYMORE. NO ONE IS BEING SOFT, YOU ARE BEING DUMB. HOLY. ⏰️ — xQc (@xQc) April 12, 2022 xQc also responded to a Twitter user who claimed apology videos make people feel entitled, which promotes toxicity. “Apologize for yourself if that’s what you believe in,” he said. “If you don’t want to apologize, then don’t pay the price.” It’s unclear whether xQc’s comments are connected to the accusations directed at Adin Ross. However, given the timing of them, some people think they’re related — particularly in terms of the fans allegedly playing it down. Adin Ross is yet to address the situation in any capacity.

  • xQc leaves Twitch chat stunned after suffering freak leg injury – Dexerto

xQc leaves Twitch chat stunned after suffering freak leg injury Twitch: xQcPopular Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has sparked concern throughout his fanbase after claiming he suffered a recent leg injury that he claims “nothing” can fix. One of the biggest streamers on Twitch has, apparently, suffered a serious injury to his leg. On September 1, an xQc update account posted to Twitter, claiming that xQc had given fans an alert in an offline Twitch chat. According to the chat logs, xQc has possibly torn the ACL on his right leg, although his message indicates that both legs might be harmed. While his messages make the situation sound quite serious, xQc claims he won’t be going to the hospital, writing: “Going to the hospital won’t help. If it’s torn or pulled, it’s donezo. Nothing can save it.” The streamer went on to explain how he’d sustained the torn ACL, claiming he’d done “some weird run and fall at a terrible angle” and had fallen “on my folded leg, at a twisted angle.” “Well, something is torn or f**ked inside my knee, regardless. If I’m lucky, it’s one of the laterals and it will heal.” BREAKING: xQc shared in offline chat a few minutes ago that he has injured his right leg earlier today. We do not know whether this will affect if there is a stream or not today, but we will keep you all posted. All of us are hoping for him to make a speedy recovery! pic.twitter.com/RGMU1UT38R — xQcUpdates (@xQcUpdates) September 1, 2021 This isn’t the first time xQc has dealt with some leg-related health concerns; two years ago, xQc went in for surgery to repair a “hole” in his knee, which surgeons had connected and secured with a bolt. Unfortunately, the bolt moved inside of his body some time later, sparking a visit to the emergency room to fix the issue. Now, it looks like the broadcaster is dealing with yet another complication with his leg, understandably sparking worry amongst his viewers — some of whom are encouraging him to seek medical assistance after reading his claims that going to the hospital “won’t help.” Fans are understandably concerned about xQc’s latest health concern and are sending him well wishes on social media as we await further updates on his condition.

  • xQc trolled by Spotify with his Wrapped song of the year – Dexerto

xQc trolled by Spotify with his Wrapped song of the year Spotify/Twitch: xQcOn November 29, Spotify users around the world started to receive their Spotify Wrapped, an annual event whereby those who use the music streaming service receive a playlist and a fun video to explain their music-listening journey throughout the year — and it immediately outed Twitch streamer xQc when he opened his Spotify Wrapped. While there are alternatives like Apple Music, Spotify is the more dominant music streaming platform and for that reason, getting your Spotify Wrapped is a very exciting time. You get to see which songs, artists, and genres you listened to most throughout the year, as well as the amount of minutes you spent listening and more. When Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel opened his live on stream, though, he probably didn’t expect to be trolled in quite the fashion he did over his number one song. xQc’s number one song on Spotify Wrapped While going through his custom Spotify Wrapped video, it finally got to the part where it listed his most popular songs. “You played 2,754 songs in 2023, and there was one that really connected,” the message read — as Blink 182’s iconic 2003 hit ‘I Miss You’ played in the background. It is a song that singer Tom Delonge has said is about “the vulnerability and kind of heart-wrenching pain you feel when you’re in love and when you’re a guy and you’re trying to tell a girl, ‘Don’t waste your time coming and talking to me because, in my head at least, you probably already gave me up a long time ago.’” His chat immediately started spamming “emo” as xQc made a face at the camera, while others said it “exposed” him or that he’s “not beating the allegations.” Other comments suggested that it’s kind of fitting after the “year xQc had,” perhaps referencing his unceremonious split from ex-girlfriend Adept, which has been a long and drawn-out commotion that seems not to ever fully die down. He laughed it off after and obviously wasn’t bothered by it, but his viewers definitely found it hilarious and didn’t hesitate to make jokes at his expense.

  • xQc calls out Twitch for double-standards after Amouranth unban: “It makes no sense” – Dexerto

xQc calls out Twitch for double-standards after Amouranth unban: “It makes no sense” Twitter: Amouranth / Twitch: xQcFelix ‘xQc’ Lengyel slammed Twitch for unbanning Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa after only three days, claiming that she’s repeated the same offense multiple times, while he almost got permanently banned for much less. Amouranth helped pioneer the controversial new Twitch trend that saw streamers lying down while wearing leggings and ‘ear licking’ their microphones. However, it ultimately resulted in her fourth ban on the platform, which has since been lifted after three days. The situation has left a bitter taste in xQc’s mouth. Not only did he describe their streams as a “f**king disgrace,” but he also revealed he almost got permanently banned for repeating the same offence twice, let alone four times, and called out Twitch for “double standards.” “It’s just the fact that… [it’s] the same offense, five times in two months, and [she only got] a three-day ban,” he said, exaggerating a little on the numbers. “After I repeated the same offense two times, I thought it was going to get [permanently banned]. I had the word ‘perma’ over my head for months for something that I did eight months ago.” He’s referring to an incident where he accidentally showed nudity on-stream. “Now, after five times, [she] got a three-day ban? That makes no f**king sense at all! How do you not get mad as a Twitch Partner seeing this?” xQc is not happy after seeing Amouranth get unbanned after only 3 days 👀 “how do you not get mad as a Twitch Partner seeing this?” pic.twitter.com/R0DTfq1ZQ9 — Dexerto (@Dexerto) June 23, 2021 xQc’s takes on issues often draw mixed opinions. However, this time around, his stance has been well-received by fans who commended him for “speaking facts.” But there are two sides to every story, and Amouranth believes the criticism over her latest ban is “enormously ironic.”

  • xQc tries sliding into Selena Gomez’s DMs after JustAMinx dare – Dexerto

xQc tries sliding into Selena Gomez’s DMs after JustAMinx dare Twitch: xqc / Instagram: selenagomezTwitch star xQc admitted that he tried to slide into Selena Gomez’s DMs after being dared to shoot his shot by fellow streamer JustAMinx — but things didn’t go as planned. xQc is one of the most prominent streamers on Twitch. In fact, he’s one of the site’s most-followed broadcasters, boasting over 11 million followers. He even received the award for ‘Best Variety Streamer’ at the 2023 Streamer Awards — but despite all his online accolades, he’s not a mainstream celebrity. (At least, not yet.) However, that didn’t stop him from shooting his shot with prominent actress and music artist Selena Gomez, who is currently in the middle of a viral feud with Hailey Beiber. JustAMinx dares xQc to slide into Selena Gomez’s DMs xQc opened up about his attempt during a March 24 broadcast, where he claimed he was dared to take a chance on his celebrity crush by fellow streamer JustAMinx. “I was on a call with Minx, and she convinced me — I told her it wouldn’t work — but she convinced me to DM Selena Gomez, and I f*cking did it,” he revealed. Assuming this was on Instagram, xQc slid into Selena’s DMs — but soon discovered that her account wasn’t open to receiving messages from anyone. “It just said, ‘This account does not accept DMs.’ And I was like, ‘Ah, man, f*ck you, man.’ Bro… f*ck you guys, man!” he laughingly told off his chat, who wasted no time poking fun at him for getting his hopes up. xQc is far from the only Twitch streamer to try his hand at getting the attention of their celebrity crush. Kai Cenat — who took home Streamer of the Year at this year’s Streamer Awards — has been pining after SZA for some time now. Unlike xQc, however, SZA actually took notice of Kai, and even said she wanted to appear on one of his streams but was too “scared” to do it.

  • xQc tries to copy Tenz’s ridiculous aim and fails miserably – Dexerto

xQc tries to copy Tenz’s ridiculous aim and fails miserably TenZ/xQcTwitch streamer xQc watched a clip of Valorant pro Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo practicing his aim and tried to replicate his accuracy – with hilarious results. Although xQc has become a bit of a variety streamer over the years on Twitch, he started his gaming career as a pro Overwatch player. He played for Team Canada at the Overwatch World Cup from 2017-2019, as well as a stint in the Overwatch League for the team Dallas Fuel. While xQc comes from an FPS background, and played at a top-level, very few players have the laser-like accuracy and reaction times as Tenz possesses. xQc tries to be TenZ xQc watched a clip on his stream of Valorant pro-TenZ, who currently plays for Sentinels, practicing in the free aim trainer, Aim Lab. TenZ, being one of the best Valorant players on the planet, shows incredible accuracy in the clip nailing every shot. xQc seemed to take this as a challenge and loaded up his own Aim Lab to try and match the Sentinels player. He shook his hands together and said “F**k this guy”, preparing to show his stream exactly how good he still is at aiming while firing up the Gridshot challenge. As soon a the challenge began, though, xQc was flailing his mouse around the screen, missing every single shot cracking up with laughter. It doesn’t look like xQc will be getting back into professional Overwatch any time soon, as his pro aiming days look well behind him. At least it was all in good fun, as it seems nearly impossible to match TenZ’s accuracy. Meanwhile, Tenz has encountered his own problems on stream, as he said he was ‘scammed’ but the Valorant store after paying for the new butterfly knife.

  • xQc tried to slide into Ice Spice’s DMs using ChatGPT – Dexerto

xQc tried to slide into Ice Spice’s DMs using ChatGPT xQcTwitch star xQc gave his best shot at sliding into Ice Spice’s DMs live on stream. The streamer initially tried to use ChatGPT to come up with a good opener but eventually decided to take things into his own hands. xQc is one of the most recognizable faces of Twitch. He continues to dominate the platform as one of the site’s most-followed broadcasters with impressive 11 million followers. On March 24 xQc was dared by JustAMinx to direct message Selena Gomez which he eventually did. As of now, it remains a mystery if the singer/actress replied to his message. This event became quite a cherished moment in his community, so the streamer decided to do it again after being encouraged by the lyrics of Ice Spice’s “Princess Diana.” X decided to use ChatGPT to formulate a great opening message but decided to take matters into his own hands after seeing what the artificial intelligence proposed. ChatGPT fails to allow xQc to slide into Ice Spices’ DMs xQc attempted this live during his April 14 broadcast, where he got the idea from Ice Spice’s own music video where the lyrics encourage the listener to “hit up her gram,” and advises them to “act like a fan.” Based on this xQc ordered ChatGPT to formulate a message that would impress Ice Spice and possibly lead to a live stream interview with her and xQc. He eventually abandoned the idea after ChatGPT started forming an extremely long message that felt way too formal and stiff. And so X decided to write the message himself. “I’m just gonna send a DM. I will say ‘hey’ with 8 y’s, and I will say ‘what’s up’, and then I’m gonna put an emoji, ice emoji, flush emoji, and then cowboy emoji. I sent it already. Is that bad,” asked xQc after sending the message. Live viewers immediately started grilling xQc, saying “yes” to his question if it’s bad, with one viewer stating “bro has NO game.” A similar situation played out between Kai and SZA, SZA actually took notice of Kai who repeatedly stated he was a huge fan of the singer. SZA said she wanted to appear on one of his streams but was afraid of “embarrassing” herself.

  • xQc tops list of Twitch’s most subscribed streamers – Dexerto

xQc tops list of Twitch’s most subscribed streamers xQcAs one of the top live streaming websites on the net, Twitch boasts a wide array of online personalities – but which of these streaming stars has the most subscribers? Unlike followers, streamers’ subscriber counts are not made directly available to the public, with many fans guessing at the amount of subscribers top content creators have earned throughout their careers on the platform. However, sites like twitchtracker.com organize the Twitch’s top broadcasters by their subscriber count, dividing subs by type – and while they allow for a certain margin of error, have introduced a surprising development as of early October. Overwatch pro and top Twitch personality Felix “xQc” Lengyel stands at number one on twitchtracker’s list of most-subscribed streamers as of October 11, boasting a current sub count of 30,955 at the time of writing. Of his 30k+ subscribers, 16.7k are via Twitch Prime, with 12.7k being Tier 1 subs, leaving just 53 and 54 subscribers for his Tier 2 and Tier 3 benefits, respectively. Known for his over-the-top reactions and hilarious interactions with other personalities on Twitch, it comes as little surprise that xQc is one of the most monetarily supported streamers out there – despite his claims of being a “brand risk” for the site earlier this year. xQc surpassed former CS:GO pro and gaming aficionado Michael “shroud” Grziek to reach first place, leaving shroud sitting in second with 30,463 subscribers – the majority of which are also via Twitch Prime. Unsurprisingly, the two-time Blockbuster champion Dr Disrespect sits in third place, boasting an estimated 26,041 subscribers. German variety streamer “Montanablack” follows quickly behind with over 25k, while popular Overwatch broadcaster “MOONMOON” takes fifth place with 23.8k subs. This list clashes with Twitch’s most followed channels, which, as of September 1, saw the likes of Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, Turner “Tfue” Tenney, shroud, TSM Myth, and dakotaz take the top five spots in terms of followers.

  • xQc tricked into roasting his own ‘low level’ chess match – Dexerto

xQc tricked into roasting his own ‘low level’ chess match Twitch: xQcFelix ‘xQc’ Lengyel was playing a rank guessing game on stream and was fooled into roasting his own gameplay before he realized what was going on. xQC’s journey in the chess world has been an entertaining one. Whether it’s been him making a massive blunder in front of GM Hikaru Nakamura or oversleeping for his match at Ludwig’s Chessboxing event in 2022, there have been memorable moments across the board. This self-own joins the list of his very best though, as he thoroughly criticized a mystery player and gave them a 100-599 Chess Rating guess, before realizing it was his own gameplay he was critiquing. xQc unknowingly roasted his own Chess gameplay on stream Twitch’s fifth most followed streamer wasn’t kind when overlooking the footage of the match that was chosen for him to review. It didn’t take long for his confusion over the player’s moves to become apparent. After submitting his answer, which rated the gameplay at the lowest possible set range of ratings, he was shocked to see that the answer was actually 947, good enough for the third tier. “Nope, I don’t agree. He missed a free piece.” He clicked on to the next match, but chat caught the irony right away, and they roasted him for the mistake he had made. It still took a moment for Lengyel to realize what was going on but he flipped out in response. “It was me?” he asked before screaming and clicking the linked match to verify what his community already knew was true. It seems like no matter what xQc does in the game of chess, he just can’t catch a break from getting memed by his own community.

  • xQc thrilled that Destiny has been spoiling Game of Thrones – Dexerto

xQc thrilled that Destiny has been spoiling Game of Thrones HBO/DestinyPopular Twitch streamer Steven ‘Destiny’ Bonnell has been under fire for sending spoilers for Game of Thrones to random users on Reddit and everyone seems to be upset with him, everyone except fellow streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel. As reported by Dexerto, Destiny has been deliberately messaging people spoilers to Game of Thrones Season 8 and wouldn’t you know it, people aren’t happy. Game of Thrones is one of the of the biggest TV shows of the last decade, so when Destiny decided to share spoilers people were pissed; it seems like everyone is upset with Destiny, everyone, that is, except xQc. xQc has his popcorn ready After a user in chat brought up the Destiny situation to xQc, the streamer looked like a kid first thing on Christmas morning and explained he was thrilled with what was going on, because it took the spotlight off of him. “My hatred level was at the top, it was going down but it was still a little up,” xQc said, describing the haters he’s been dealing with on Twitter. “Then Destiny was like ‘SPOILERS’, ‘SPOILERS.’” “I was like: ‘hey Destiny, go go go go!’” xQc said while laughing with chat. “Hardcore, more spoilers, hey, pump that shit dude.” A lot of people are, understandably, upset with Destiny for spoiling their favorite show, but based on this clip Destiny’s shennanigans might as well have given xQc an early birthday gift. What’s happened to Destiny? Sharing spoilers is obviously frowned upon and xQc even threatened to throw the book at users who shared Avengers: Endgame spoilers in his chat. When it comes to other streamers though, it seems spoilers are perfectly fine, especially if it takes the haters attention off of Felix. xQc has been under fire lately after being accused of not paying for Twitch emotes, so any heat Destiny takes off of him is probably really appreciated. Destiny has over 400,000 followers on Twitch, but now it appears he’s at odds with some of his viewers after receiving considerable criticism for his behaviour.

  • xQc tips restaurant server $1200 and they can’t believe it: “You’re lying?!” – Dexerto

xQc tips restaurant server $1200 and they can’t believe it: “You’re lying?!” Twitter/Twitch: xQcTwitch star Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel left his server a massive $1200 tip after he was finished eating on an IRL stream, and she couldn’t believe it. As one of Twitch’s biggest streamers, if not the biggest, xQc is no stranger to getting donations and support from his fans with each stream. The Canadian has been given plenty of massive donations in his time on Twitch, some genuine, and some less than so. Though he’s also given away some big wads of cash as well, even buying his fans Christmas presents on occasion. Well, with his PC struggling to boot after his January 18 stream, he decided to break out and host a rare IRL stream, and ended up making a restaurant server’s day with a massive tip. Though, they didn’t believe him at first. xQc gives restaurant server $1200 tip in IRL stream That’s right, xQc’s January 19 stream consisted of him hitting the streets and skateboarding, rather than getting incredibly frustrated by a new game or his chat’s constant backseat instructions. Though, when he went to grab some food, he wanted his chat’s help for a tip. He used a number randomizer to decide on a figure between $1 and $1200. It landed just under the full amount, so he rounded up anyway. The streamer then approached his server and informed her of the massive tip, telling her to keep it for herself. As she checked the massive figure, she was visibly moved but said: “You’re lying.” So, he reassured her it was genuine. Given that xQc had signed the receipt, the tip was genuine and his bank account could be charged for it. He left the restaurant shortly after, so there wasn’t any arguing over it. His tip went a bit differently than another streamer who tried to give their IHOP server $400, only to be told they couldn’t accept.

  • xQc threatens to put viewers on “the list” for leaking Avengers Endgame spoilers – Dexerto

xQc threatens to put viewers on “the list” for leaking Avengers Endgame spoilers MarvelPopular Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel told viewers he wasn’t putting up with any spoilers for Avengers: Endgame, but not because he was worried about finding out. Endgame is the final Avengers movie and spoilers for the movie have been popping up almost everywhere and so have bans for people who try to spoil it for others. It was no different during xQc’s stream on Saturday, April 27, so the streamer issued a warning to his viewers who might be tempted to spoil the movie. A warning to Spoiling fans xQc was having none of the spoilers and after the issue popped up in chat, he put down an ultimatum. “Had to ban somebody for spoilers, I’ll give you guys one last warning, ok?” he said during an Overwatch match. “If you post a spoiler about Endgame, I don’t give a fuck about that movie, I don’t give a fuck about superheroes, I don’t give a fuckity-fuck about that movie.” “But if you put a spoiler in chat,” Felix continued. “I don’t give a fuck if you’re a one-year sub, two-year sub, if you’re new, if you’re not, I will permaban the fuck out of you, and I will put you on the fucking list.” If viewers posted spoilers, xQc promised to ban them not just from his channel but from every channel he is listed as a mod in as well, which he was was “like 200 channels.” Avengers Endgame: tearing Twitch apart? xQc isn’t the only streamer to go off on his viewers for trying to spoil the final Avengers movie, Jaryd ‘took shots at a fan who tried to ruin the movie. “I think if someone intentionally spoiled a movie for me that I really wanted to see in real life, I’d probably punch them in the mouth,” Lazar said. Avengers: Endgame came out in the United States on April 26 and social media has been flooded with people talking about seeing the movie, or having it spoiled for them. The hype around Endgame has to die down eventually, otherwise people like xQc who don’t care about the movie at all might just lose it.

xQc thinks the new “Lion King” movie will feature tigers Disney, YouTube/ xQc, TwitchThe newest trailer for Disney’s CGI remake of the “Lion King” captured the internet’s attention, so streamer Felix ‘Overwatch and before diving in once again, he decided to watch some YouTube videos with chat during the stream on April 10. Watching videos along with chat is nothing new for Felix and neither is misidentifying certain species of big cats. Simba: lion or tiger? One of the videos suggested by viewers was the new trailer for the CGI “Lion King” remake from Disney, and as the video ended, xQc seemed impressed by the realistic special effects. “I feel like if you put this in a child movie dude, like the quality is so good that the main small tiger, you know the small tiger? He looks so cute, if he was to die that would be so depressing dude,” Felix told chat, who were already making fun of him for the slip-up. It didn’t take xQc long to notice he was being mocked by viewers for once again not knowing the difference between large felines. “Yeah a tiger dude, whatever dude, fucking tiger, lion, who the fuck cares man?” Felix told his chat. “You guys are so fucking annoying dude.” Animals, according to xQc xQc has a history of misidentifying animals, made most famous by the infamous “cheeto” clip where he referred to the large spotted cat by the snack food brand of a similar name. Who knows if xQc will even see the new Lion King, but at least he knows it isn’t actually about tigers. Calling animals the wrong name has become a meme for xQc’s channel and we can certainly add the Lion King clip to the collection titled “xQc names things.”

  • xQc threatened with copyright strike during IRL stream – Dexerto

xQc threatened with copyright strike during IRL stream Robert Paul for Blizzard EntertainmentPopular Twitch broadcaster Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel got threatened with a copyright strike while livestreaming himself and a group of friends in a Dave & Busters. The Canadian is one of the most popular streamers on the platform, thanks to his incredible reactions while playing games like Overwatch, in which he is a former professional player. Occasionally the 23-year-old will break out IRL streams, and on Sunday, September 22, xQc headed out to a Dave & Busters arcade with some fellow streamers, but got threatened by the location’s manager during the broadcast. After playing arcade games with his crew, including other popular Twitch stars like pokelawls and Mizkif, the group headed into the location’s store, eager to spend the 15,000 tickets they had earned on some cool prizes to take home with them. As they tried out a yo-yo, pokelawls, xQc, and the gang were approached by a manager of the facility, who made it clear he didn’t want to be filmed and even threatened to make a copyright claim against them. “Are you guys recording?’ asked the employee, with the group confirming that they were. “Do you ask people’s permission? Because if you see my face anywhere on the screen, blur my face. Straight up, I will copyright strike.” The group didn’t seem particularly worried about the prospect, with xQc joking about fellow streamer Alinity Divine, who was involved in a public spat with Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg after claiming a video in which he criticized her. “I heard about someone who did that,” the former Overwatch pro stated. “Her name was Alinity, and it was really bad.” They did go on to apologize to the manager, even though it’s unlikely he would have been able to successfully claim the stream, confirming that they wouldn’t show him on camera again, with the group able to exchange their tickets for an acoustic guitar, some candy, and the yo-yo.

  • xQc thinks big streamers feel threatened by Adin Ross amid Ludwig drama – Dexerto

xQc thinks big streamers feel threatened by Adin Ross amid Ludwig drama Twitch: xQcOW/Adin RossFelix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has voiced his opinion on the Adin Ross and Ludwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren drama, claiming that a lot of big streamers feel threatened by Ross’s surge in popularity on Twitch. Adin Ross’s ongoing feud with Ludwig has taken over the platform in the last week. The drama began over a discussion about Ross and his audience on Ludwig’s stream, with both sides going back and forth over Twitter. Since then, FaZe Banks has even got involved in an attempt to squash the “weird” beef between the personalities. Now, xQc has weighed in with his opinion on the drama and admitted that he sympathizes with Ross, claiming that other big streamers feel threatened by a new face on the platform who has surged into popularity. xQc claims big streamers feel “challenged” by Adin Ross During his May 31 stream, xQc discussed the drama going on between Adin Ross and Ludwig, admitting that he sympathizes with Ross as he knows what it’s like to gain popularity on Twitch in a short space of time. According to xQc, it’s this sudden surge in popularity that makes the already big streamers feel threatened and challenged; instead of embracing the newcomer, they make jokes at their expense as they’re insecure about their own position on the platform. “I know what it’s like dude, to kind of come out of nowhere… everybody is kind of molding and everyone is being kind of bitter, and they kinda throw comments.” xQc then goes on to condemn streamers that downplay and make excuses about why new personalities gain big audiences. According to him, trying to minimize other people’s success is a bad mindset to have. Instead of taking their frustrations out on new and popular personalities, xQc encourages already established streamers to feel empowered, as everyone is different and has their own style of content. “Every stream is unique, everybody does their own thing… trying to limit everybody’s success and minimizing it, you just look like a f***ing dumbass, and it’s just like… it’s just a joke lol, shut up.” While xQc didn’t take any direct shots in his comments, it’s obvious he disagrees with the way Ludwig and the other established streamers handled the Adin Ross situation. As he has first-hand experience of garnering a huge audience in a short space of time, it’s clear xQc could relate to Ross’s situation and understood why the clip frustrated him so much.

  • xQc terrified by strange man at his window – Dexerto

xQc terrified by strange man at his window Twitch: xQcOW / UnsplashPopular Overwatch pro Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel looked genuinely terrified when a stranger suddenly appeared at his window and interrupted his Twitch stream on August 12. xQc is known for his incredible Overwatch skills, and entertaining over the top rants that often see the Canadian streamer exploding with energy. But during a broadcast on August 12, the usually boisterous pro became genuinely startled when a strange man showed up at the window behind his monitor. Who was the man at xQc’s window? A stranger at xQc’s window The popular Twitch streamer was playing Minecraft when suddenly his head jerked up as he noticed something outside. “Who’s outside!? What the!?” he exclaimed before slamming his headphones on the table. With a look of terror on his face, he then jumped up from his seat and sprinted out of the room as he called out for his housemate and fellow streamer Sammy ‘adeptthebest’. xQc was so terrified that he sprinted out of his room to get some answers. After returning, xQc explained his confusion to his audience. “Dude, I don’t know what it is. Some guy with like, a stick. Then on the stick is like some fluffy thing and I don’t know what he’s doing.” Someone in his chat suggested it could be a window washer, but the streamer quickly shot that down. “I don’t think we’ve had anybody like wash the windows, dude”. Clearly disturbed, the Overwatch pro stopped playing, and called up his housemate. xQc finds out who the man was After finally getting ahold of Sammy, xQc asked her if she knew who it was. “There’s somebody in the backyard” he said. “Oh. It’s the pest control guy” she explained. Still shocked by the situation, the Canadian streamer asked “What is he doing?” to which his housemate replied: “Spraying for the wasps and the bugs and stuff, so they don’t get into the house, or live on our house”. Incredulous, xQc brought up the weird stick the man was holding. “But he had a stick with like a fluffy thing on top.” “He’s probably knocking down the nests” she finally replied, before the Overwatch pro accepted the explanation. While we know xQc is an absolute beast as a Tank in Overwatch, maybe he should enter into Logan Paul’s Challenger Games next year – he has mad running skills.

  • xQc teases buying esports teams to start creator-backed org – Dexerto

xQc teases buying esports teams to start creator-backed org Robert Paul for BlizzardContent creators have started getting more and more involved in sponsoring esports teams, and former Overwatch competitor and Twitch superstar xQc is teasing that he’s already bought a Valorant team. The era of creator-run esports organizations is just beginning, with a select few creators making waves after investing in various esports titles. With the success of Moist Esports in multiple esports titles, other creators have taken notice and started investing in esports themselves. xQc may be the next in line and, considering that he’s one of the most viewed (and highest earning) streamers on Twitch, he has a lot of potential when it comes to bolstering the scene. According to chat logs from xQc, he plans to start with Valorant. xQc claims he bought a pro Valorant team Picking up a Valorant team is something that’s been a long time coming. He teased his involvement with the game after Disguised Toast’s team started tearing up the competition, claiming that he wanted to buy a team that could take down Toast’s roster. He’s continued to mention his interest, particularly in a Valorant team, over the past few months. This led to a recent on-stream conversation about how, in his pursuit to purchase a team in Valorant, he almost got scammed. Now, xQc has claimed that he’s buying a Valorant team, followed by plans to purchase a Rocket League team and a team within the LFL, the League of Legends French League. And, according to xQc, the way he’s going about picking up teams is more profitable than trying to start an organization. It’s unclear what xQc’s Valorant team or, by extension, his organization would be called. However, there’s a lot of potential for a creator-run business and organization to do well. Outside of the aforementioned Moist Esports, it’s easy to look to a creator-launched business like PRIME Hydration to see just how much potential there is when it comes to content creator-backed ventures. Whether or not xQc goes all-in on esports remains to be seen. However, if what he’s claimed in these chat messages comes to fruition, the former Overwatch pro has the potential to once again be a big name in esports. This time, as an owner.

  • xQc tells viewers not to sub to him – and buy Twitch Turbo instead – Dexerto

xQc tells viewers not to sub to him – and buy Twitch Turbo instead Twitch: xQcAs viewers and streamers alike complain about the increase of ads on Twitch streams, the platform’s most-watched creator, xQc, has instructed viewers not to subscribe to him – but use the money on Twitch’s Turbo option instead. Twitch Turbo is nothing new – it’s been available for years. But, it’s never been seen as a particularly popular option, as ads were not a big concern for most viewers, and they could simply subscribe to their favorite streamer instead to get no ads on that channel. But, as Twitch is pushing streamers to run more ads, with new incentive deals, they are becoming more and more of a nuisance to viewers hopping between streams. In some cases, viewers are hit with up to 15 consecutive, unskippable ads, while watching a channel. xQc: Buy Twitch Turbo instead While reacting to one such instance of 15 ads in a row, xQc gave his take on the drama over increased ad rolls on the platform, with some advice for his viewers. “I’m telling you, I don’t give no f**k [about my sub count],” xQc said. “Instead, get yourself Twitch Turbo. Twitch Turbo is wicked. You have no ads anywhere on the platform when you have it. For the price of two subs, you have a sub on every channel across the platform.” Spreading such a message to such a large viewer base likely saw a sharp uptick in Turbo subscribers already. Some Twitch users have also spotted a message on the top bar highlighting that ad-free viewing is available with Turbo. However, for most users, it is still rather difficult to actually find the option for Twitch Turbo anywhere on the site. It is only available at the bottom of the ‘General’ drop-down menu. Turbo costs $8.99 a month, but there is no regional pricing, meaning for some users in certain localities, the price could be much higher than what xQc describes as just the cost of two subs.

  • xQc and team execute one of the worst CSGO rounds ever – Dexerto

xQc and team execute one of the worst CSGO rounds ever xQc/ValvePopular Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel had a comically bad round of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive while on stream. Recently, xQc expressed his displeasure with the current state of Overwatch. But perhaps CS:GO is not the way to go for the Twitch star. xQc is certainly not a stranger to CS:GO, and is more than capable of holding his own when he gets matched up with proper teammates. To close out his August 24 stream, he queued for a match on Inferno in the Gold Nova group, and dropped 23 kills while also picking up the most MVP stars on his team. Check out this clutch triple in apartments with the AWP: But on his August 25 stream, that same magic wasn’t there on Mirage. xQc and his teammates were down 7-1 to start the map on their CT side, and in the ninth round got off to a good start with two early kills. But then this happened: So, there are a couple of things to unpack here. First, we have xQc jumping off of the palace balcony to the A site ramp entrance. He clearly tries to switch from knife to shotgun, but accidentally switches back to his knife. With no ranged weapon available, he gets blasted by the AK-47 wielding player in front of him. That same player then kills his teammate who’s at triple box, and then xQc loses another teammate at mid, as a 5v3 turned into a 3v2 in just seconds. To make matters worse, his teammate with the Team Liquid player icon goes to smoke the molotov at his feet on B short, but he ends up dying to the flames. In the split second before switching cameras, it looks like the fire is still going despite the sound of it being extinguished, so this death might be attributed to a molotov bug rather than impatience or stupidity. But there’s no excuse for what happens next, as his last surviving teammate patiently waits in the smoke next to ticket booth for the terrorist player to flash in, and then proceeds to miss roughly 12-13 shots with the M4A4 from behind. His should-be-kill then whips around with his AK and headshots the poor lad, and even xQc can’t stifle a laugh. Maybe Valve should add a Bronze rank to matchmaking.

  • xQc takes swipe at Taylor Swift’s militant online fan base – Dexerto

xQc takes swipe at Taylor Swift’s militant online fan base Twitch: xQc / Taylor SwiftTwitch powerhouse Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has taken a swipe at some of the more impassioned Taylor Swift fans who rally around her and “attack” anyone she is beefing with on social media. [jwplayer G7X9bhMt] xQc isn’t one to hold back his opinions. In the last couple of months alone, he’s opened up the drama between him and Jaryd ‘Summit1G’ Lazar, debated with Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and his wife over charity streams, and accused Twitch streamer Katerino of cheating on CallMeCarson. Now, he’s got pop sensation Taylor Swift in his sights. Well, her fans, at least. xQc throws Taylor Swift fans some shade xQc claims he has nothing but respect and admiration for Taylor Swift herself. However, he has thrown some shade at her fans. More specifically, he believes the portion of her fans who draw comparisons between her and others and attack them on social media are a nuisance. xQc stated that he believes Taylor Swift “kinda had to go with the industry and whatnot” once she became a superstar, and that he understands and respects it. “But the problem is… her fans and her fan base,” he added. He goes on to describe a hypothetical situation in which Kanye West says, “I just sold… 600 million dollars worth of products… just to let you guys know.” xQc then re-enacts Taylor Swift fans spamming Kanye with “Taylor ended your career” comments. To reiterate his point, he acts out another situation in which the fans say “Taylor Swift ended your career overnight.” xQc is referring to a feud between Kim, Kanye, and Taylor Swift A word for word summary doesn’t do it justice. xQc’s impressions are hilarious and questionable, to say the least. But it’s something that has happened on social media before, and he felt strongly enough about it to make a comment. Taylor Swift feuded with both Kim Kardashian and Kanye West earlier this year, and although it seems like the trio has more or less made amends, some of her fans weren’t ready to forgive and forget. Either way, it doesn’t matter too much whether you agree with xQc or not. After all, it’s nothing more than his opinion on something trivial. But the main thing is his awful impersonations are well worth the watch and provide good entertainment value.

  • xQc takes top spot on Twitch in December as Ninja and Shroud leave – Dexerto

xQc takes top spot on Twitch in December as Ninja and Shroud leave Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, has proven why he’s one of the most exciting streamers as he topped Twitch’s viewership numbers for the month of December. Various streamers have jumped ship from Twitch to various platforms in a series of exclusivity deals recently. Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins kickstarted a domino effect of streamers leaving Twitch, including the likes of Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek and Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop. Most recently, popular variety streamer, Corinna Kopf, opted to take her streaming talents to Facebook Gaming and added her list to the ever-growing list of talent missing from the Twitch cast. Meaning that with a number of big names now broadcasting elsewhere, there is a gap in the market for the next rising star on the Amazon-owned platform. Enter xQc. The former Overwatch pro currently sits as the 28th most followed Twitch streamer, after you discount event broadcasters, video game channels and inactive streamers. Having amassed over 1.8 million followers, the former Overwatch pro broadcasts near-daily to a captive audience. While xQc’s talents stem from Overwatch, he often turns his hand to any game to appease his following. During December, the Canadian frequented Jump King and CS:GO the most, with the bulk of his streams transitioning to a ‘Just Chatting’ segment — which took up almost 90 hours of his time. In December, he is streaks ahead of the competition in terms of hours watched, according to TwitchMetrics. Most watched Twitch streamers in December 2019 xQc – 7,937,22 hours watched – ESL_CSGO – 5,397,022 hours watched – Yogscast – 4,720,269 hours watched – Tfue – 4,557,619 hours watched – loltyler1 – 3,566,091 hours watched – TimTheTatman – 3,194,599 hours watched – CSRuHub – 3,166,517 hours watched – gaules – 3,158,995 hours watched – Summit1g – 2,907,378 hours watched – 한동숙 (handongsuk) – 2,897,083 hours watched – Since Lengyel has got his fingers in a lot of pies, he brings in plenty of new viewers from various corners of the streaming world. Thus far, xQc has streamed every single day in December. Combine this with his wide array of games and you get the recipe for success. It is for this reason why xQc is the most watched channel on Twitch over the holiday season — with a staggering 7.9 million hours watched. For context, the Canadian’s nearest competitor is ESL’s Counter-Strike channel, with 2.5 million viewer hours less. In terms of fellow streamers, Lengyel dwarfs the likes of the Yogscast group and Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney numbers by a considerable margin. So what does this mean? Well since there is a clear gap in the market for Twitch’s next rising star, xQc appears to be doing everything in his power to fill that void. One year from now, the Canadian is set to nearly double his current follower count to 3.4 million. Based on this projection, 2020 could be the year of the xQc Twitch takeover.

  • xQc takes his Apex Legends rage out on stream setup – Dexerto

xQc takes his Apex Legends rage out on stream setup Twitch streamer Felix ‘ Apex Legends that he hilariously decided to take his rage out on his own streaming set-up. Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends released on February 4 to mass praise, adding new mechanics – such as its ability to respawn dead players – to the battle royale genre. The respawning system is so popular with players that even Apex Legends’ rival Fortnite is considering making it a part of their game. However, it doesn’t seem to have a fan in xQc who became so angered by how some enemy players use the system that he hilariously attacked his own stream’s lighting. “It’s so boring how these guys just rotate like a relay dude, like an Olympic Race,” xQc said, beginning his rant against respawns. “Oh, I’m out of shield, here’s the flag – I got it, you go now, I’m low you go – like it’s some relay dude.” “Like the McDonalds race or some shit. It’s so unfortunate,” xQc added before taking aim at his own lamp and laying a punch into it. However, as he tried to get settled after his rant, the lamp fell on his desk – prompting the streamer to throw another punch at it in anger. Despite attacking the light and doing his best to fix it, xQc sounded somewhat surprised as he said “my light is falling apart dude,” once he had calmed down from his rant. The former Overwatch pro has already shown his prowess in Apex Legends but it’s probably best for his light to find a new spot in case he becomes enraged something else in the near future.

  • xQc takes shots at Ninja’s French language fail – Dexerto

xQc takes shots at Ninja’s French language fail xQc, Ninja – TwitchPopular Twitch streamer and Overwatch pro Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel hails from Canada, being fluent in English and French – which led to his hilarious reaction towards Fortnite star Ninja’s flub of the language. Ninja accidentally confused the French phrase “Je suis,” meaning, “I am,” with the phrase “Je jouis,” meaning, “I’m c*mming” – leading to a cacophony of laughter from those assembled. xQc came across a clip of the incident during a broadcast on March 7, and gave a hilarious reaction to Ninja’s blunder. xQc broke out into a laugh and jokingly poked fun at the clip’s place on livestreamfails, claiming that he wasn’t ready to see such content on his family-friendly stream. “Guys, that’s offensive to me, dude,” the streamer joked. “Where’s the ‘after dark’ overlay? What the f*ck? I didn’t get a warning. I wasn’t ready for some ‘after dark’ content on my pg-13 schedule. What the f*ck?” Ninja himself appeared to take his mistake pretty lightly, joking that he was “gonna learn some French tonight” after being warned of the phrase’s meaning. Ninja’s happy accident took place during a joint stream with French streamer Gotaga, where the two teamed up with former CoD pro Broky Brawks for a Fortnite broadcast ahead of his trip to Austria. xQc surprises friend with rare $11k Jordans as he continues spending spree Kick: xQcFelix ‘xQc’ Lengyel bought streamer and friend Omie rare Jordan 1 Retro Low Dior sneakers for $11k during Kick Livestream. xQc gained fame as an Overwatch player, renowned for his skill on the tank hero Winston, but has since become the biggest streamer around. The Canadian, who now splits his time between rival streaming platforms Kick and Twitch after signing a mega deal with the Stake-backed platform, typically has friends involved in his streams – be that in person or in-game. Most recently, he had fellow creator Omie on stream during an IRL broadcast. At one point, the two entered a sneaker store and Felix bought the fellow content creator Jordan sneakers worth $11k – much to the delight of the GTA RP streamer. xQc buys rare $11k Jordan 1 Retro Low Dior Sneakers They spotted a rare sneaker store, “Urban Necessities,” and decided to take a look around. Though, xQc was initially unconvinced by the selection of shoes: “Bro, it’s all just the same but with different colors […] they’re goofy.” But while Felix wasn’t a massive fan of the sneakers on display, Omie was, pointing out a particular pair of grey and white Jordans – the Jordan 1 Retro Low Diors – telling xQc: “That’s my favorite shoe, I’ve always wanted them, they’re so rare.” xQc looked around the store for a bit longer before surprising Omie by saying: “Yo Omie, how much are the Diors over there? Take ’em, if you like them take ’em, I’ll buy them for you.” The shoes turned out to be $11k, and after being allowed to try on the rare sneakers, Omie decided that he liked the fit and look – and so xQc bought them as a gift for him. This stream came a few days after he revealed to viewers that he had purchased an “iced-out” Ender Dragon pendant to be held as a trophy by whoever has the fastest Minecraft Ender Dragon speedrun between him and fellow streamer Forsen.

  • xQc sympathizes with Sykkuno after fans believe he cried over GTA RP heist – Dexerto

xQc sympathizes with Sykkuno after fans believe he cried over GTA RP heist Twitch: xQc, SykkunoFor the first time, Sykkuno failed a hack during a GTA RP lower vault heist, leaving him seriously upset — and Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel jumped to his defense after hearing what happened. Sykkuno’s character ‘Yuno’ has earned himself a reputation for being elite at breaking into banks in GTA RP heists. He rarely gets anything wrong and is always the hacking mastermind behind these operations for his squad. But, during a stream on June 23, he failed to break into the lower vault, just one number off of getting the 12 digit sequence correct and reaping the rewards for his crew. The situation clearly cut Sykkuno up slightly, looking utterly dejected in the aftermath of their failed attempt and shutting off his webcam, obviously disappointed with his attempt despite his team’s best efforts to comfort him. While some people felt that Sykkuno had overreacted to the botched attempt, xQc was one of the people who sympathized with the Twitch star, understanding how disappointing it must’ve been for him. “He was crying?” xQc asked, speaking with his chat. “It happens. I told you last time: whenever you fail something like that, it’s very defeating. I don’t think you guys understand. “Sometimes, it’s not a ‘whatever.’ It’s a lot of effort, it’s a lot of time putting in the effort, and a lot of people count on you. That feeling is really, really defeating.” Of course, there were no hard feelings towards Yuno from his team. Lang reminded Sykkuno’s character that they all still loved him and that the level of stuff he’s doing is incredible. Hopefully next time, he’ll be even more ready for it. But we already know he won’t be letting something like this happen again.

  • xQc surprises fans with plea to subscribe to other streamers instead – Dexerto

xQc surprises fans with plea to subscribe to other streamers instead Twitch: xQcFelix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, one of Twitch’s most popular creators, left his audience stunned during a recent broadcast when he encouraged them to donate and subscribe to other, smaller Twitch streamers, rather than him. When it comes to the most popular streamers on Twitch, former Overwatch pro xQc has become a stalwart of the list. While he can now be found variety streaming, his fiery personality and trademark charisma make him a go-to channel for viewers all across the world. He currently sits at just shy of 10 million followers, with his streams regularly pulling in upwards of 50,000 viewers. With numbers like that, one can assume he makes eye-watering amounts every month as a result of viewer subscriptions and donations. While that may be true, his stream took a surprising turn on December 18, as the Canadian told his viewers to invest their money elsewhere. Discussing the breakdown of his Twitch earnings, he explained that the majority of his money now comes from ‘large corporations’, rather than viewers subscribing, donating or cheering bits. For these reasons, he encouraged his viewers to pick out smaller content creators and use their subs and money to support them instead. “More serious topic, I talk about this almost never,” he said. “There used to be a time where all the revenue, and all the money the stream made, came from people’s contributions. Subs, donos, bits. But these days… it’s not even close. Money comes – primarily and insane amounts – from corporate and other parties that are not chat.” xQc reiterated that he is grateful to any and all who are willing to financially support him, but suggested that their money would be more beneficial going to smaller creators. He continued: “If you guys watch smaller streamers, subscribe to these guys and use your Prime [subscriptions] for smaller streamers… But by ratio, a lot of money comes from corporate.” Many of xQc’s viewers praised the streamer and his words, complimenting his generosity. Smaller streamers will doubtless appreciate them as well.

  • xQc stuns chess Grandmaster Hikaru with epic opening blunder – Dexerto

xQc stuns chess Grandmaster Hikaru with epic opening blunder xQc/GMHikaruFelix ‘xQc’ Lengyel was one of the big streamers to enter the Twitch PogChamps Chess tournament, but his run was cut short after a disastrous opening that led to a lightning-fast checkmate and made commentators speechless. Chess, one of the oldest board games in the world, has become increasingly popular on Twitch lately. Popular personalities like xQc have been playing it on stream, and Grandmaster Hikaru ‘GMhikaru’ Nakamura has even seen success with his informative streams from players trying to learn the game. During the opening rounds of the $50,000 PogChamps Twitch Chess tournament, xQc put his skills to the test against Charlie White (AKA penguinz0, moistcr1tikal) and the results left Hikaru dumbfounded. xQc began with a “Scotch Opening” which gives White control of the center of the board early, but it can also backfire and allow Black to counter very easily, which is just what moistcr1tikal did. “No please don’t, it’s too soon Hikaru, we didn’t eve reach a climax,” WFM Alexandra Botez lamented, while Hikaru just watched speechless as Cr1tikal finished off Felix. “You know when I said it would be fun to see a checkmate in four earlier? I was joking, it wasn’t real.” Cr1tical explained how he was ready for xQc’s Scotch open based on advice, and with xQc’s blunder of moving his Knight from d4 to c6, thereby leaving the diagonal route to the White King wide open for the Black Bishop. “xQc will likely go with a Scotch open, and he did, so I had to counterplay,” Charlie explained. “And he immediately blundered. Well, that’s gotta be a world record.” “Ok, I’m done, really dude?” xQc said after the stunning defeat. Hopefully, Felix doesn’t give up on chess entirely though, as he is entertaining to watch, even with the blunders. Timestamp at 7:38 for mobile viewers. If you’re still looking to satisfy your Chess cravings on Twitch, you’re in luck, because the PogChamps tournament runs through Sunday, June 14. Even though xQc isn’t in the running anymore, maybe you’ll still be able to pick up on some strategies as you watch to help you avoid a similar fate.

  • xQc stuns fans by leaving Luminosity after two years – Dexerto

xQc stuns fans by leaving Luminosity after two years Luminosity GamingTwitch giant xQc has parted ways with Luminosity Gaming after more than two years with the organization. Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has become one of the biggest names in the entire streaming world. It’s hard to look anywhere on social media and not find traces of his influence across the space. Since October 2020, he had been representing the Enthusiast-owned Luminosity brand while reaching some historic heights but the pair’s run has finally come to an end. xQc’s departure from Luminosity Lengyel already had quite a name for himself prior to joining the blue-and-white organization, but his star certainly grew during their time together. Not only has the streamer become a household name at this point, but he continually cemented his place at the top of the industry with their help. He was named the most-watched Twitch streamer in the world three years in a row during his time with the team. No reason has been given for the departure at this time, but he did acknowledge the brand’s goodbye tweet to confirm his exit. It didn’t take long for fans to flock to the announcement and share disappointment or make bold predictions about what the future looks like for the Canadian superstar. “I kinda wanna see x in [100T] just so I can see him model for their clothes,” one commenter joked. There’s no guarantee that he joins another team, but he’ll surely hear from other organizations hoping to add an all-star name to their content teams. Regardless, the future is bright for Lengyel no matter what route he takes going forward.

  • xQc stunned by ‘confusing’ YouTube video strike – Dexerto

xQc stunned by ‘confusing’ YouTube video strike Twitch: xQcPopular Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel was left stunned after discovering that his YouTube channel had received a strike following a recent reaction upload. While fans can watch back clips and vods to gather highlights from streams they may have missed, many streamers have gone one step further – transferring parts of their Twitch broadcasts to their YouTube channel. Some broadcasters like YogCast member Sips may argue that it’s not a great idea due to YouTube’s monetization issues, it gives fans a bitesize way to watch one of their better games, hilarious moments, or as the opportunity to watch react to a number of videos, which is something that xQc does, but also something that he may want to keep an eye on. During his October 3 stream, the former Overwatch League professional was alerted to a potential issue when his chat filled up with DMCA and copyright spam from his audience. He immediately checked his YouTube channel and was greeted with a violation of community guidelines message due to the platform’s ‘child safety policy.’ “Yo! Excuse me?” xQc immediately called out, stunned by what he’d been greeted with. The popular streamer even sought out the problematic upload, only to discover that it was a reaction video to something that already has over 40 million views. “Forty million views! Forty. Forty million views. I reupload the reacting with like 100k views and I get banned for it – I’m confused,” xQc added in the aftermath. Following the conclusion of his discovery, the French-Canadian even took to Twitter to get some more eyes on his warning from YouTube – including an explanation as to why he felt it was wrong. “I believe this is a mistake and would like to have this problem resolved. Thank you,” he said, concluding his brief statement about the matter. Hey @YouTube I received an official warning/strike telling me one of my videos is breaking the guidelines but that video is me watching another video that isn’t taken down and at 40M+ views. I believe this is a mistake and would like to have this problem resolved. Thank you pic.twitter.com/B9qdHwISbe — xQc (@xQc) October 4, 2019 Whether or not the streamer will get the issue resolved remains to be seen, but as of writing, he hasn’t made any further tweets about the matter and hasn’t gone live on Twitch for the day. • xQc stunned after trolls attack with surprisingly adult related clips – Dexerto

xQc stunned after trolls attack with surprisingly adult related clips xQc, Twitch / FreepikPopular Overwatch pro spent some time watching a collection of contributed clips from his Twitch chat. Little did he know that he was about to be subjected to three surprisingly innapopriate related clips in a shock for the star. The first clip was the worst of them all, depicting two male policemen arresting a robber dressed all in black. The short video was a snippet of an adult movie scene, cut off right before the burglar – also male – took the video into dangerous territory. “But what are you going to do for us? You going to do as you’re told? I’ll make a deal with you Adam. You make both of us come, I’ll pretend I never saw you,” the fake officer said in the video, sparking a surprised yell from xQc. Before the streamer could react further, the second video revealed a short logo video, complete with music and animations. Lengyel, realizing he was in the middle of being trolled, yelled out again in frustration. “Help, yo!” he begged his chat, gesturing at the video and shaking his head. Little did he know the show wasn’t over yet. Rounding out the hilarious clip trilogy, fellow Twitch superstar Guy ‘Dr Disrespect’ Beahm suddenly appeared on his media screen, choking himself in one of his past on-stream skits. “Imma keep squeezing. Imma keep squeezing, and squeezing, and squeezing, you hear me?” the Two-Time yelled in the segment as he pretended to choke the life out of himself. xQc seemed unsure of what to make of the series of clips, sitting in silence with his hand on his head as he watched the Doc continue the choking routine, before the Canadian slowly dropped his head into his hand. While the streamer’s chat had a lot of fun with the series of clips, xQc may have been sitting in stunned silence due to concerns he could get banned for innapropriate content. Twitch has cracked down on innapropriate content in recent weeks with short-term bans for streaming stars like Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa and Bridgett Devoue, and the Canadian may have been worried he was headed down a similar path after submissions from his ‘loyal’ fans.

  • xQc stunned at viral TikTok about Adept breakup: “Is this a joke?” – Dexerto

xQc stunned at viral TikTok about Adept breakup: “Is this a joke?” Twitch: xQcTwitch star xQc was left absolutely stunned at a viral TikTok discussing his breakup with now ex-girlfriend Adept. While many of the biggest YouTubers and Twitch streamers opt to keep their personal lives private and hidden away from followers, and for good reason too, xQc’s relationship with Adept was out in the open for everyone to see. With an audience as big as the former Overwatch pro’s, over 11.4 million followers to date, there are bound to be a few viewers who become too invested in their favorite streamer’s personal lives. xQc left stunned by TikTok on breakup During his November 19 broadcast, the popular streamer came across a viral TikTok with over 1.3 million views discussing his breakup with Adept. Warning others, the TikToker @xmukitty claimed that xQc had no prenup in his relationship with his ex-girlfriend, which supposedly allowed her to take his home and car when they split up. Completely in shock and practically lost for words, “what the f**k am I even watching,” he said. “How is this even a real thing? “It has 150k likes. It has 150k how the f**k is this- Is this a joke?” he added. Noting that the two did live together for a long time, many TikTok users pointed out that a prenup is typically for marriages, whereas the two Twitch streamers were just in a relationship. Though the couple could’ve been in a common-law marriage — meaning Adept could be entitled to financial benefits from xQc. Adept recently confirmed that xQc’s McLaren 720s Spider, worth roughly $300,000, is in her name. Though it’s unclear whether or not she intends to hold onto it.

xQc stunned after Speed brings up ex-girlfriend Adept in Fortnite stream YouTube: iShowSpeed/Twitter: adeptthebestTwitch and Kick streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel was left unsure of what to say after fellow streamer iShowSpeed brought up his ex-girlfriend Adept during a Fortnite stream, immediately making things awkward in the call. xQc’s relationship with Adept has been well documented, from their time together to the more recent legal issues and unceremonious breakup, with accusations being made against each other, and xQc admitting he might “never get over” the “disastrous” lawsuit. There have been dating rumors swirling about XQC being with other women, though nothing quite as serious, which is why the Canadian streamer sounded a little surprised when Speed said he “knows who his girlfriend is.” Speed makes things awkward with xQc Completely out of the blue, Speed pipes up while waiting in the pre-game lobby saying “Wait, X, I know your girlfriend!” xQc responded simply asking “Who?” to which Speed proudly exclaimed, “Her name is Adept!” xQc smirked after, saying “Jeez, that is tough, bro. That is tough,” clearly a bit surprised to have his ex partner’s name thrown into the call like that. After the others in the call tried to move in, Speed came in slightly coy once again, saying “That’s my fault” and asking “Did I say something mean?” He said that his chat told him to say it, with xQc responding that it doesn’t bother him, so there are no hard feelings between the two. xQc’s chat spammed “pain” and “wtf,” clearly a bit taken aback by the comment — though the pair just laughed it off in the end. Needless to say, Speed might think twice before making an offhand remark like this again, with xQc or anyone else.

  • xQc stunned as AI xQc calls Ludwig “most braindead streamer” – Dexerto

xQc stunned as AI xQc calls Ludwig “most braindead streamer” xQcTwitch star xQc was left absolutely stunned as his very own AI fired shots at Ludwig, labeling him as the “most braindead streamer.” Over the past year, artificial intelligence (AI) has vastly evolved. With technology constantly improving, AI-powered bots are becoming more and more prevalent. They’ve now even made their way onto Twitch, with users creating their own AI-generated streams which have taken over the platform. AI-generated Nothing, Forever — a show parodying the hit 90s sitcom Seinfeld — as well as Anime and even SpongeBob SquarePants have become massive hits. We’ve even seen AI bots accompany our favorite Twitch stars on their streams, and they’re absolutely brutal. xQc shocked as AI calls Ludwig “most braindead streamer” xQc was left stunned in his March 13 live stream, as his very own AI bot — which was created by a fan to mimic the Twitch star — fired shots at Ludwig. With viewers being able to ask the bot questions, one fan asked who it thinks is the most braindead streamer, to which the AI clapped back with a hilarious response. “Ludwig is probably the most braindead streamer if you really think about it,” the AI responded. “I mean, the guy doesn’t know how to do anything except play melee really.” The AI continued: “He’s one of the most popular because he is literally just a good-looking white guy, but I feel he just doesn’t have like any substance to him as a streamer. I could be wrong but that’s just what I feel like.” The real xQc was left completely lost for words. “What the f**k was that dude,” he said. It’s fair to say viewers were also stunned by the AI’s response. The bot didn’t only fire shots at Ludwig though. Earlier in the stream, a fan asked the AI for its opinion on Trainwrecks, to which it responded by claiming he’s a “fraud.” “Train is a total fraud man, he is a total fraud in every he does,” the bot said. “He tries to act smart, he tries to be a good person, but I don’t think he’s smart. He is just a fake person.” Viewers have certainly had their fun with xQc’s AI so far, but it’ll be interesting to see what it says next as it learns and evolves.

  • xQc stunned after hilarious Minecraft speedrun fail: “Stupidest thing I’ve ever done” – Dexerto

xQc stunned after hilarious Minecraft speedrun fail: “Stupidest thing I’ve ever done” xQcTwitch star xQc was left lost for words as his Minecraft speedrun failed miserably after a hilarious rookie mistake. After two years of trying, xQc finally managed to beat Forsen’s Minecraft speedrun record in early 2023. However, the battle between the two was not over. In March, Forsen managed to take the lead again after smashing the previous time by minutes — leaving xQc battling once more to get the record back. However, xQc was left lost for words at one of his most recent attempts, failing miserably with a hilarious rookie mistake. xQc shocked after Minecraft speedrun fail During his April 13 broadcast, the Twitch star had just one heart, while his hunger was on three bars. With no food in his inventory, the 27-year-old had no way of regenerating his health. However, the popular streamer got lucky while bartering with the Piglins. After trading a ton of gold, the ‘Juicer’ got just enough Crying Obsidian to craft himself a Respawn Anchor. In theory, this would now let him respawn with full health and hunger, but xQc’s idea didn’t exactly go to plan. Without thinking, he immediately lit himself on fire with a Flint and Steel after setting his spawn point. However, it didn’t kill him — forgetting that he just used a fire resistance potion minutes earlier. xQc then had a different idea to kill himself in-game. This time, the Twitch streamer built up a couple of blocks, and without any further hesitation jumped off to take the fall damage. Although it would completely slip xQc’s mind what would happen next, as the Twitch star and his 60,000 viewers would watch his entire inventory disintegrate into ashes from the very fire he started seconds ago. It took a few moments for xQc to realize what just happened, but when it dawned on him, his reaction was absolutely priceless. “Okay, no no, we need to pause this,” he said. “Nope, I don’t give a f**k. I will pause and we’ll talk about this. “This has to be the collective must stupidest thing I’ve ever done in my life,” xQc claimed, meanwhile his chat were in absolute hysterics.

  • xQc stunned after receiving biggest donation ever: “You’re insane” – Dexerto

xQc stunned after receiving biggest donation ever: “You’re insane” Twitch/xQcTwitch star Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has seen just about all there is to see in the livestreaming world, but during a stream on January 30, he was left shocked after receiving his biggest donation yet. Big donations are not a new concept on Twitch, as a number of streamers have been given thousands of dollars in one go from their biggest fans, which is doubly beneficial for them as they get the full donation amount, rather than having to give Twitch a cut. For example, one Twitch viewer donated a whopping $200k to VTuber AeriytheNeko back in 2021, a truly move life-changing moment for Aeriy. More recently, however, these huge donations haven’t been quite as common, especially with the introduction of Bits and Gifted Subs, with viewers preferring to gift subscriptions to their favorite streamers instead. That said, xQc got a huge donation during his Jan 30 stream, even claiming that it was his biggest one yet, and couldn’t actually believe it at first. While watching a documentary on popular YouTuber SteveWillDoIt, xQc received a donation totaling to just under $10,000. He immediately looked confused and simply asked “what the f**k?” He went on: “Wait, dude… I think that’s my top [donation] of all time. Bro, you’re insane, no shot.” He went on to double-check the legitimacy of the donation and was convinced it was real, suggesting it came from an entity rather than just a single person, but it wasn’t completely clear. He went on to thank the donator multiple times before continuing with his stream. Obviously, one big issue in the past has been donators sending loads of money before charging it back through PayPal, though time will tell whether xQc gets hit with the same here.

  • xQc stunned after finding himself in PewDiePie’s YouTube Rewind – Dexerto

xQc stunned after finding himself in PewDiePie’s YouTube Rewind Twitch star Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel was left stunned after finding himself playing a role in Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg’s own YouTube Rewind 2019 video. YouTube Rewind has, traditionally, been a time for some of the biggest creators on the platform to get together and create a video that showcases that last year of their content and some viral hits. In recent years, YouTube has come under fire for their annual upload – with the 2018 installment quickly becoming the most disliked video ever, and the recent 2019 video being criticized for taking a step outside the box and becoming a huge listicle. So, PewDiePie stepped up to the plate with his own, hilarious take on things – complete with classic memes and YouTube roasts. Though, in one segment, popular streamer xQc made an appearance where he labeled Thanos from Marvel’s Avengers as a “cheater,” when a video of the Avengers x Fortnite crossover was revealed. With the former Overwatch League professional being live on Twitch when the video was released, it didn’t take long for his fans to make him aware of his inclusion, leading him to react to it on stream. “What?” xQc called out upon seeing himself and breaking into laughter. “You were right. Guys, we made it dude! We cheated, he cheated. That’s crazy, dude.” After finishing up with the comedic video, the streamer wanted to give his thanks to his namesake for including him – so he left a little comment. “Chat, we can comment something nice. I was here PogU. Nice video Felix. PS, please don’t copy strike me,” he said, joking about the beef between PewDiePie and Alinity after the YouTuber called out Twitch streamers in 2018. Even though he may not have expected to find himself as a part of the video, it’s probably something that xQc will take either way as it promotes him to a huge audience. It might not score him a collaboration with the YouTube king anytime soon, but at least Felix’s are looking out for each other.

  • xQc stunned after being baited into promoting RAID mobile game on stream – Dexerto

xQc stunned after being baited into promoting RAID mobile game on stream Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel was hilariously caught off-guard after he was tricked into playing an ad for the mobile game RAID: Shadow Legends live in front of thousands of viewers. xQc’s ‘media share streams’ are a favorite with fans, who can submit a video or link along with a donation that the streamer will watch and react to with his chat. Memes, funny videos and even content created by fans themselves are usually featured, but the most recent media share stream on January 12 included something that caught the Twitch star off guard. The stream was going on as normal when, out of nowhere, a full advertisement video for the mobile game RAID: Shadow Legends popped up. “Is that a f*cking ad?” xQc asked after what was definitely an ad started playing. “It is literally an ad, literally an ad.” The streamer could do nothing but watch the rest of the ad in stunned silence, as his chat exploded with fans laughing at the bold trickery unfolding before their very eyes. It’s not clear exactly who orchestrated this bait. The user who donated $10 to get the ad played was named RAIDshadowlegends, which suggests it may have been the developers themselves. That, however, remains unconfirmed since realistically anyone could have used that name in an attempt to make their troll look more authentic. If developers were indeed the ones behind this, then paying $10 to get an ad on to xQc’s stream – which regularly breaks 20,000 viewers – would be a bold, brilliant, and admittedly shameless marketing strategy. It’s not the first time ads for games have been snuck into big-time Twitch streams either. In 2019 a user impersonating the Escape From Tarkov developers trolled Asmongold with a video promoting the game as he watched videos with viewers. Advertisements and videos promoting these kinds of games are already all over YouTube and Twitch, but paying to sneak them in a streamer’s media share queue is on a whole other level.

  • xQc stunned after discovering Hasan’s trick to avoid “react content” backlash – Dexerto

xQc stunned after discovering Hasan’s trick to avoid “react content” backlash xQc was shocked when he discovered an editing tactic being used on Hasan’s stream to avoid any more controversy over low-effort “react content”. While xQc and Hasan are some of the biggest names in streaming, that doesn’t mean they aren’t free from criticism, and one of the biggest critiques they faced last year was their approach to watching other people’s content and then reuploading it, also known as “react content”. The two top streamers came under fire for stealing videos: critics said that by watching videos on stream and then uploading their (usually unremarkable) reaction to YouTube, the streamers were stealing views and revenue that would otherwise have gone to the original content creator. While the controversy has died down now, several streamers are still concerned about the drama, especially with plagiarism being a hot topic in online culture right now. And it seems that Hasan’s stream is deploying countermeasures to stop this, as xQc discovered while he was live on Twitch. xQc aghast after finding Hasan’s editing tactic to avoid controversy While streaming on his Twitch channel, xQc came across a clip from Hasan’s stream which showed him reacting to a video from CNN. However, Hasan gets up to go to the loo during the clip, leaving the video running while he’s away from the camera. This was one of the biggest criticisms that both xQc and Hasan received; using content to retain viewers while they were AFK. In the clip though, the footage of an empty chair is replaced with footage of Hasan reacting as if he were still there, which caused xQc to double-take. He said: “Hold on. Chat, now hold on. Are you telling me that I reacted to an educational video about the whole ordeal, and I get canceled for reacting, and the same people are praising this guy? “This editor who went after me literally modified the f*cking video when [Hasan] goes offscreen.”

  • xQc explains why “streaming wars” were better when Netflix had a monopoly – Dexerto

xQc explains why “streaming wars” were better when Netflix had a monopoly Twitch: xQcStar streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has shared his view on the current “streaming wars” — not Twitch vs YouTube, but rather Netflix and its competitors — becoming infuriated due to market saturation and increased barriers of entry for consumers. Nowadays, watching any show you want is becoming a more trying task. Each streaming website has their own licenses, with platform based exclusives becoming a widespread phenomena. But before this streaming wars, there was one reigning king dominating the market: Netflix. During a recent broadcast, xQc vocalized his desire to return to those days: “call me boomer dude, but I enjoyed when Netflix had a monopoly. “I don’t mind a monopoly if it means we don’t have to log into 8 different systems.” In a world where Blockbuster and physical rentals were the only thing out there, Netflix showed the world the potential of online streaming. During the first couple of years of the platform’s launch, Netflix was one of the sole providers of legal online streaming — allowing them to host now very competitive shows with ease. There was a point in time where Netflix had That 70’s Show, The Office, Frasier, and even Parks and Recreation all at the same time. But the world has since caught up — with competitors like Hulu, Disney Plus, and HBO Max contesting Netflix for big name releases. xQc grew more heated while recapping the current state of the streaming wars, exclaiming frustration at how the only solution really is VPNs. “VPN this, NordVPN up my **shole, this, that, f**kin three browsers, new computer, antenna, I wanna watch a show man! The consumer is always losing!” It’s unlikely to get any better in the streaming space as more companies try to get a slice of the pie, but hopefully xQc can one day catch that show he’s after — whatever it may be.

  • xQc struggles to find Shaggy in HBO Max Velma trailer – Dexerto

xQc struggles to find Shaggy in HBO Max Velma trailer While reacting to the trailer for the HBO Max original show Velma, popular Twitch streamer xQc struggled to find Shaggy, as many characters have been redesigned for the spin-off cartoon. For the past 54 years, the character designs for Scooby-Doo and the rest of the Mystery Inc. gang have primarily stayed the same. These five characters have been largely recognizable, from their clothes to their skin tone to their voices. This is thanks to Scooby-Doo being a cartoon, save for a few live-action films. But even the crime solvers in the 2002 film and beyond were easily recognized due to their hairstyles, outfits, and mannerisms. And the same can mainly be said for Velma. Velma is a new spin-off prequel to the Scooby-Doo universe geared toward adults with its humor and storyline. And instead of having the same caucasian cast we’ve seen for 54 years, Velma represents more ethnicities by making Shaggy, aka Norville, African American, and the titular character, Velma Dinkley, South Asian. xQc doesn’t recognize Shaggy in HBO Max’s Velma While watching the trailer for Velma on stream, xQc was seemingly confused by what he was seeing. “Wait… I don’t remember her looking like this,” he stated before searching for a picture of Velma online. “When I was a kid, I watched some of the cartoons. Am I crazy? Because I thought she was skinny and white?” However, xQc seemed the most perplexed toward the end of the trailer, wondering where franchise favorite herb lover Shaggy had been. As he clicked back through the video, looking for a glimpse of the caucasian Rogers, he stumbled onto a scene where a white man with a goatee can briefly be seen in the reflection of a car window. “Him?” xQc asked, pointing at the character that vaguely looked like the traditional Shagster. Ironically, the reflection overlapped with the actual Shaggy’s face. This explains why xQc didn’t understand a punchline earlier in the trailer. Shaggy’s character, who has drawn suspicion of being a “pothead” for years, looks at the camera and states that he doesn’t do drugs, followed by a long pause. Despite wearing the same attire that Shaggy has been known for over the last 50+ years, xQc isn’t completely to blame. Nowhere in the commercial is he referred to as “Shaggy.” Instead, he’s listed as Norville – Shaggy’s real first name. xQc quickly realized who Shaggy was once his chat had explained they had changed his ethnicity. “I didn’t know. I just thought that Velma was only about Velma. That there were no other Scooby-Doo characters. And I thought they just decided to make her skin more tan or something. But then I realized – I get it – they reinterpreted the show and made both main characters black.” So, in the end, xQc finally found out which character in the trailer was meant to be Shaggy.

  • xQc spots himself in Depp vs Heard Netflix trailer and can’t believe it – Dexerto

xQc spots himself in Depp vs Heard Netflix trailer and can’t believe it Kick: xQc/Johnny Depp, Amber HeardFelix ‘xQc’ Lengyel spotted a screenshot of himself in the trailer for the Depp vs Heard trial documentary on Netflix, and he couldn’t believe it. From April to June 2022, the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard trial exploded in popularity. Content creators across Twitch, TikTok, and Twitter reacted to the live stream of the trial. Asmongold, xQc, and Pokimane were among the biggest creators to react to it admin the “tv meta” era of Twitch, bringing in thousands of viewers in the process. Netflix is making a documentary about the infamous trail, and xQc spotted himself in the trailer while watching it on stream. xQc loses it after spotting himself in Depp vs Heard Netflix trailer Set to premiere on August 16, the three-part Netflix series Depp vs Heard will document various aspects of the infamous trial that went on for several months. While watching the trailer for the documentary on stream, xQc lost it after spotting a screenshot of him that they used when talking about how content creators reacted to Depp vs Heard. “Yo! Yo! Yo. Nooo shot. Oh my god I f*ckin made it, dude,” he said. xQc was just one of the biggest streamers following alongside the Depp vs Heard trial. OTK co-owner Asmongold became Twitch’s most watched streamer at the time thanks to his reaction content. It wasn’t just popular with Twitch streamers, though, as TikTok Live streams of the proceedings and trends focused on statements from the trial took over the platform. All eyes were on the celebrities during that time, also, which prompted one YouTuber to go viral with a fake version of Amber Heard in public.

  • xQc Starts Smashing His Equipment in Rage During Realm Royale $100K Tournament – Dexerto

xQc Starts Smashing His Equipment in Rage During Realm Royale $100K Tournament Popular streamer Félix “xQc” Lengyel could not contain his rage after being eliminated during KEEMSTAR’s Thursday Realm Royale $100,000 tournament, smashing his desk and tossing his headset. xQc’s streams are popular for a number of reasons, but one of them is his notorious rage outbursts – most famously on Overwatch, the game he previously played at a professional level with the Dallas Fuel. But really, his rage the kind that all gamers experience from time to time, on all different games, especially those that are online – with some serious money is on the line. Playing in KEEMSTAR and Hi-Rez Studio’s weekly $100,000 Realm Royale tournament, xQc and his duos partner were eliminated, and his desk and headset took the brunt of his anger. Warning: It gets pretty loud. Realm Royale is a battle royale like most others, but with it’s own unique twists on the gameplay and features you may be familiar with from Fortnite and PUBG. However, it is still in its early access stage, with the developers at Hi-Rez studying the game for improvements and bug fixes, before a full launch. Unfortunately for xQc, he wasn’t able to break into the money placings with his performance, him and his partner MOXY finished 20th out of 35 teams. They did manage to out place some big name favorites however, such as the duo of Summit1g and JoshOG, who many had figured had a good shot of winning. xQc and MOXY also bettered streamers shroud and Jotobo, who like Summit and JoshOG, failed to win a game. More: Streamers ‘IHOLDSHIFT’ and ‘SSLCK’ Win KEEMSTAR’s $100K Realm Royale Tournament #2 – Recap and Final Placements – The tournament was actually won by esports commentator IHOLDSHIFT and his partner SSLCK, who were last minute invites to the event to fill in for another team that couldn’t make it. They netted the $50,000 first place prize – not bad for a last minute invitation.
