  • xQc uses bizarre analogy in hilarious lootbox gambling argument – Dexerto

xQc uses bizarre analogy in hilarious lootbox gambling argument Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel tried his best to explain to his Twitch viewers why he believes loot boxes aren’t a form of gambling in video games, but his explanation might have raised some eyebrows to say the least. The popular streamer has never been one to pull punches or dodge the biggest talking points his chat puts in front of him and those sentiments could be seen perfectly during his broadcast on November 6. Loot boxes and their impacts have been a huge talking point for video game developers, communities and even politicians in recent times – with many arguing for them to be banned due to gambling concerns. The Canadian decided to throw up a definition of gambling on his screen for all to see, before drawing out a simple diagram to explain his point. The analogy that followed on from this was done in a way that only he knows how. He wanted to give people a real example – or comparison – which shows how he sees the content found inside loot boxes. So, he proposed the idea of selling $10 mystery boxes on the street but making it so that people couldn’t sell its contents for real money – just like many videos games. xQc said: “[Inside] ‘could be a paperclip, a Gameboy, a phone. You give me ten bucks right?’ I open it and there’s f*cking cocaine, right? Are you going to sell the cocaine? Nooo that’s against the law! You cannot sell it.” “If you want you can go out, go to jail. You can’t sell it. You’re right, it has value… If you’re a f*cking criminal,” he added. Despite the creativity of his point, a counter argument would be that players in CS:GO and other games can sell loot crate content to others on the Steam marketplace and use third party methods to turn their returns into cash. Players of that game will very much be aware that big money can be spent – and gained – by purchasing and selling some of the rarer sticker packs in that game. One example of that came back in September when fellow Twitch streamer Trainwrecks opened up one of its souvenir cases, which he paid $175 for, only to receive just over $12 worth of content inside. To combat that argument, xQc broke it down further for his viewers – explaining that even in those circumstances, it can break the rules. More specifically, terms of service put in place by developers. “When you put money into Steam, when you open your wallet and put money into your bank, it’s f*cking gone,” he explained. “If you want to obey the rules and be fine, and be a normal user, it’s absolutely f*cking vanished.” The topic itself, loot crates being categorized as gambling, is a complex one and still many countries are trying to decide if action should be taken or not to prevent their existence. Whether you agree with xQc’s points or not, he certainly put them across passionately.

  • xQc suddenly realizes why he’s so cold on stream with classic outburst – Dexerto

xQc suddenly realizes why he’s so cold on stream with classic outburst Popular Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel left his viewers with a top highlight clip, as he proceeded to go on another classic outburst after realizing why he was freezing cold on stream. Anyone who tunes into an xQc stream, even for a few minutes, is likely to see him rant and rave about something. Be it the price of his Pokemon cards, being unable to complete a level in Modern Warfare, or encountering a problem with Escape from Tarkov, he can lose his mind at any time. That was no different during his November 7 stream, as the former Overwatch professional complained about the heating in his home, only to have a hilarious moment of realization in front of his thousands of viewers. During his stream, the popular variety broadcaster had suffered an elimination from a game of Fortnite when he channeled his trademark rage. “Yo, what the f*ck. Guys, my hands are f*cking cold! I’m going to go fix this sh*t because this is unbearable dude.” However, that prompted xQc to have a hilarious lightbulb moment as he realized why he was actually so cold. “Chat, the heating in America, is supposed to be done by gas right?” he asked before waiting for answers. As his chat laughed at him for only just realizing, xQc carried on with his hilarious outburst. “That’s why dude, they cut my gas off because I didn’t pay for it! “F*cking hell man, oh my god. Dude, it said 82 degrees! It said 82 degrees and my hands are frozen,” the popular streamer roared before taking things down a different path in order to find some warmth. “Dude, I’m going to put them [hands] on my d*ck again, I don’t give a f*ck,” he added as his chat filled up with laughing emotes and spam. Instead of giving into the low temperature, however, the Canadian carried on with his stream alongside regular duo partner m0xyy. Next time though, he may want to consider getting in contact with his gas company and making sure everything in up and running, just so it doesn’t feel like he’s back home when he’s actually in Texas.

  • xQc slams Jake Paul and RiceGum for promoting scam gambling site – Dexerto

xQc slams Jake Paul and RiceGum for promoting scam gambling site Popular Twitch streamer Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has slammed the luxury gambling website promoted by Jake Paul and Bryan ‘RiceGum’ Le. Both RiceGum and Paul uploaded videos to their YouTube channels promoting the site, showing their reactions as they appeared to win high-end luxury items like popular sneakers, branded clothes and even expensive gadgets. YouTubers such as Ethan Klein from H3H3 Productions and Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg have hit out at the pair, calling the website “shady” and asking whether Paul and Le should be promoting gambling to their young fan base. On January 3 xQc had his say on the situation, comparing the website and a player’s odds of winning these prizes to entering a casino and playing a game there. “If I walk into a casino and I go to the roulette table, I know that my odds of winning if I bet on red or black are 48.5%,” stated the Canadian. “All the odds, all the percentages of me winning are out there.” “It’s open, it’s not hidden, but with these websites you don’t know your chances of winning. All the values are hidden and they choose the values. It’s ten times worse than gambling because most gambling games are quantifiable, but this is trash. This is a scam, a gambling scam.” RiceGum has explained in a video uploaded on January 3 that, due to the lucrative deal he was given to promote the site, he didn’t think of the possibility of it being a scam, but has admitted he knows he was “somewhat in the wrong.” Jake Paul has not talked about the issue on his YouTube channel, but did send out a tweet urging kids not to gamble. With the amount of interest surrounding this matter, it’s likely that we will hear more about the site and the YouTuber’s involved in promoting it.

  • xQc gets stream sniped in real life by fan who wants a free sub – Dexerto

xQc gets stream sniped in real life by fan who wants a free sub xQcHugely popular Twitch streamer Félix ‘Overwatch player finally ventured into the world of IRL streaming – and headed out with a few of his friends, broadcasting for just over three hours as they bounced around parts of Montreal. As ever with IRL streaming, there are sure to be interesting interactions with passersby and, sometimes, even fans who have decided to interrupt the stream. Yet, one particular stream sniper dropped by with some hilarious references for xQc’s viewers – and with a small demand of his own. While sat in a bar, xQc was handed multiple sheets of paper from behind the positioned camera. Reading through them, one of the streamer’s friends realized that they were being stream sniped by a fan who was delivering in-real-life chat spam with paper. The fan’s antics didn’t end there. Instead of asking for a photo, an autograph or even to appear on stream, the viewer simply asked the chat to gift him a subscription to xQc – as the streamer himself read out loud. xQc was speechless as his friends also pointed out that the stream sniper had dropped a ‘7, 7, 7’ note on him – referring to a regular spam in the streamer’s chat and donations that has caused him much frustration in the past. While it isn’t Lengyel’s first venture into the world of streaming his own time outside his house, it didn’t quite match the hilarity levels of the time he streamed a gym session. Yet, it is xQc and there’s always fun to be found in what he does, so maybe he will add a few more IRL streams into his broadcasts.

  • xQc scores hilarious own goal to lose intense 20 minute Rocket League match – Dexerto

xQc scores hilarious own goal to lose intense 20 minute Rocket League match Popular streamer Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel couldn’t believe his eyes when he cost his team a match on Rocket League – by scoring an own goal at the end of a nearly 20 minute game. Lengyel became well known on Twitch when he was a professional Overwatch player, representing the Dallas Fuel in the Overwatch League. Following his release from the team in March 2018, xQc had continued to stream Overwatch, but decided to move to variety streaming, after his Overwatch account was suspended yet again. Since then, the Canadian has tried out a number of different games as he expands his streaming repertoire, with Rocket League becoming the latest game to infuriate the Twitch star. While playing on Sunday, December 23, Lengyel found himself embroiled in an incredibly nervy match, which finished 5-5 after five minutes and meant both teams were forced to play overtime, where the first team to score a goal wins. Incredibly, this overtime lasted almost 14 minutes, until xQc hilariously hit the ball into his own net while trying to defend, causing them to lose the game. “I’m going to shoot myself,” mumbled Lengyel, shocked at what he had done. “I’m done with it.” While xQc claimed he was done with Rocket League, he continued to play it – although things didn’t get any better. The Canadian accidentally sent up another opponent for an easy goal, and was so furious he could just slam his hands into his desk, unsure of how to react.

  • xQc loses his mind over Valve’s default CSGO keybinds – Dexerto

xQc loses his mind over Valve’s default CSGO keybinds Popular CS:GO, hilariously comparing the in-game controls to Twister. Many of the top games often have default keybinds that can be changed to suit a player’s preference when they become more accustomed to the game. However, when it came to playing Valve’s popular FPS, CS:GO, the former Overwatch pro lashed out at Valve after dying in-game, hilariously mocking their default keybind selection. The Twitch star was playing on the classic map, Dust 2, when he found himself getting sniped after communicating with his team that his opponents had pushed out mid and used that as the reason for his death. “I can’t, why does Valve put talking on ‘K’? Why as default?” he asked, before acting out how much he needs to stretch his fingers to play and communicate at the same time. “I have to do a game of f**king Twister dude,” he explained, jokingly using his foot to help him reach the controls, “Sorry guys, I gotta use my comms.” After being told by his Twitch chat to simply change his keybinds, xQc fired back at his viewers using the example of a Honda Civic being sold to explain his side. “That’s like if all Honda Civics started selling their cars and all of a sudden they decide to put wheels made of paper, paper wheels,” he expressed, comparing the questionable keybind to a car with no wheels. Many of his viewers questioned the popular streamers analogy, but xQc decided to continue playing the game out with the awkward keybind despite the discomfort it caused him. Although he has had his share of tough games on CS:GO, the Twitch star is a huge fan of the FPS’ case openings and has even taken the time to open some mid-round in the past.

  • xQc mocks streamers who have insane “Spaceship” gaming setups – Dexerto

xQc mocks streamers who have insane “Spaceship” gaming setups xqcow twitch / red bull youtubeTwitch streamer Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has explained why his streaming setup remains very modest, and mocked other streamers, big and small, who have insane streaming rooms and gaming setups. xQc’s stream setup remains modest despite success. Formerly of the Dallas Fuel during the inaugural season of the Overwatch League, xQc parted ways with the team after being suspended in Stage 2, and has since gone on to become one of the most successful streamers on the Twitch, amassing a huge following of over 1 million followers on the platform. However, despite his massive success – and the income that comes with it – he still streams from his bedroom, with a rather understated setup – somewhat like other top streamer Tyler1. xQc vs Twitch streamers He recently shared what he believes to be the secret to success with his viewers and even called out streamers who felt the need to spend so much money on their livestreaming setups to become successful. Felix started by telling his fans to look at other streamers on Twitch who have tons of equipment such as a stream deck, sound filter, monitors, etc before jokingly adding dog cams and cat cams to the long list of equipment. He then went on to even compare some of the other streamers to NASA analysts, detailing just how much equipment some of the other content creators actually have. xQc explained how he found it odd that he would often get lumped in with streamers like that and claimed that his stream was a lot more personal compared to those who spend so much on their setup, stating, “I don’t want to go into an office and feel like i’m going to work.” He followed up by saying he felt that the old school approach to streaming was much more enjoyable for him and that “the more distance from the old school streaming from my room type things you do, the more you straw away from the things that make it fun.” xQc detailed what he looks for in a streamer, “I only watch streamers that I relate to,” he stated. “When I go to somebody’s stream and he’s streaming from a fucking spaceship, I almost always leave immediately dude,” before saying he has nothing in common with other streamers on the platform who do things that differently from him. With the likes of Ninja upgrading his streaming room in August 2018, many suspect the comments to be about him after the praise he received for how futuristic his gaming setup now looks. • xQc loses his mind after 46 consecutive Overwatch matches – Dexerto

xQc loses his mind after 46 consecutive Overwatch matches Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel is well known for losing his cool with video games, and viewers of his stream were greeted with another classic moment after losing a round in his 46th Overwatch match of the day. The streamer has returned to Overwatch after a self-imposed sabbatical which began with the streamer getting a two week ban, and Lengyel declaring he would never play the Blizzard title again. However, after a few weeks of the Canadian trying out the other games like Pokémon and some other single-player titles, he is back on Overwatch to the delight of his audience. On Monday, January 21, xQc began a stream that would last for over 24 hours, with the former Dallas Fuel player grinding Overwatch the whole day, resulting in the streamer racking up an incredible 50 matches in one sitting. However, after tasting a round defeat in his 46th match, the Canadian wasn’t able to contain his frustration at his teammates, who he felt had cost him the victory. “Yo, you motherfuckers are trolling, right?” yelled xQc at his teammates as he writhed around in his chair. “I can’t fucking do this, I’m not fucking losing like this. Please confirm to me that you are fucking trolling. This can’t be real life!” While xQc played for almost 24 hours, he managed to finish up with a positive win record, winning 29 games and losing 21 of the 50 overall matches he played. The former Dallas Feul pro player has been showing that he has still got some impressive skills on the popular title, including a Winston play that secured a clutch victory for his squad.

  • xQc loses his mind after frustrating Escape from Tarkov fail – Dexerto

xQc loses his mind after frustrating Escape from Tarkov fail Félix ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Red Dead Redemption 2 and others of late, but his dip into Escape from Tarkov didn’t prove to be as exciting for him as perhaps he hoped. Lengyel was stealthily taking out opponents on the tactical first-person shooter game before trying to loot a body caused him all sorts of problems. As he tried to pick up another weapon from a downed enemy, it became very clear that he didn’t know how to do it. Just one glance, at this time, might have saved the day as a number of people in his chat suggested that a middle mouse click would have allowed him to pick it up. With another person approaching his location, he moved up the stairs with just a pistol in hand before missing a few shots. Reloading as he walked up the stairs, another appeared out of nowhere and took him out – sparking a big reaction from the Canadian. “This game is so totally f*cked!” he roared. “Why can’t I get the f*cking gun? The gun is not picking up. It says question marks.” His teammate Pokelawls tried to talk him through the problem soon after his death, but that only triggered yet another hilarious reaction from xQc – this time with a more chilled out tone, though. As the chat suggested previously, the mistake he made was not inspecting the weapons with the middle mouse click, something he called a “stupid” feature. “You have to inspect the gun. I get it. Take your time and look at it, but if it’s real-life… Somebody invades your f*cking house and there’s a gun, but you don’t know whose gun it is. Oh wait, I cannot pick it up. I must know first what it is and what it means,” he says before making some funny hand gestures. While he might not have been best pleased by how it all went down, this was definitely one of the most entertaining parts of his Escape from Tarkov stream. Whether or not he returns to the game again soon remains to be seen.

  • xQc is left speechless by hilarious Overwatch stream sniper – Dexerto

xQc is left speechless by hilarious Overwatch stream sniper Popular Twitch streamer Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel was couldn’t believe his ears when he was paired up with an incredibly funny stream sniper in Overwatch. The stream sniper immediately recognised Lengyel when he ended up in a game with him, and started to beg xQc to follow his character around the spawn area, shouting down his microphone at the Canadian. When xQc finally followed him, the player led the streamer into a bar area at the back of the room, and told Lengyel: “If this was a personal bubble bath, I would actually be swimming in your crust.” The player than began to moan loudly down his microphone, as xQc smiled at this strange situation. Lengyel and his teammate eventually won the match 3-1, and to celebrate the victory, the player immediately began to loudly moan at xQc, who could barely contain his laughter. To add to the already hilarious situation, the player then began to blare dubstep music in the background, continuing to yell and moan over the pulsing electronic music. “xQc, I want you in my room,” the stream sniper groaned. “Or I can come to your room as well. I want your crust on my body. I can feel the beat like your crust!” Lengyel has returned to Overwatch after claiming he would never play it again, and has quickly shown that he hasn’t lost his touch since stepping away from the professional scene. While it seems unlikely that he will ever compete at the highest level again, some of his recent plays have made it clear he still has the talent to do so, including an amazingly clutch Winston play.

xQc fires shots at Overwatch after Riot reveal rival FPS Project A Twitch: xQc / Riot GamesTwitch streamer Félix ‘Overwatch developers Blizzard following the announcement of Riot Games’ upcoming first-person shooter currently titled “Project A.” Riot Games celebrated the tenth anniversary of League of Legends on Tuesday, October 15, making blockbuster announcements such as the new Legends of Runeterra card game, and a new champion for LoL, and a first look at Project A, their upcoming shooter that features characters with abilities battling it out in a CS:GO-style match. While many were ecstatic at the prospect of the new game, xQc felt he needed to send some advice to the developers, taking a shot at Overwatch and Blizzard in the process. In response to a clip of the game uploaded by Riot Games themselves, the 23-year-old vented his frustrations at the current state of Overwatch, where he feels too many heroes have shields, thus making it harder to break down defences, and the game less enjoyable to play. “Please add barriers and shields,” wrote the former Overwatch pro in a sarcastic tweet. “As (many) as possible. Blocking THOUSANDS of bullets. It’s what the players want, trust me.” Please add barriers and shields, as much as possible. Blocking THOUSANDS of bullets. It’s what the players want, trust me. https://t.co/8GC6oFsXsc — xQc (@xQc) October 16, 2019 The streamer then brought fellow Twitch personality Tyler ‘tyler1’ Steinkamp into the situation. With tyler1 well-known for refusing to play any other game but League of Legends, xQc joked that his peer was being rewarded for his loyalty to the MOBA, while he continued to be punished with shields on Overwatch. He tweeted: “Dude, tyler1 doubles down on his trash game and gets billion-dollar games made for it. We triple down on Overwatch and get more shields! He can’t keep getting away with it!” DUDE @loltyler1 DOUBLES DOWN ON HIS TRASH GAME AND GETS BILLION DOLLAR GAMES MADE FOR IT. WE TRIPLE DOWN ON OVERWATCH AND GET MORE SHIELDS. • xQc hilariously explains the philosophy behind teabagging – Dexerto

xQc hilariously explains the philosophy behind teabagging Blizzard EntertainmentTwitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel recently got sentimental about teabagging on stream, and claimed the action didn’t carry the same weight as it used to. xQc recently returned to playing Overwatch after mostly staying away from the game since being suspended in November, 2018. Since his return it seems the streamer is trying to turn over a new leaf, he’s even avoided raging in situations he usually would, most of the time at least. While playing Overwatch recently, xQc got a question from a viewer who asked him what he thought about ‘teabagging’, or the action of crouching directly on your opponents face after they’re knocked out in FPS games. “I feel like people don’t really teabag for the right reasons anymore,” xQc told viewers. “People are so young and they just started playing online video games, they don’t really understand why you teabag, it’s kind of lost it’s value, it’s meaning, it’s sort of, reasoning.” Now, the action is mainly used when one player knocks another out, Lengyel said. “You didn’t do shit,” the streamer told his fans. “If you don’t understand, you’re probably between 10 and 18 years old, maybe 19, that’s why you don’t understand it.” There was a bit of teabagging controversy in during Season One of the Overwatch League when Jae-hyeok “Carpe” Lee of the Philadelphia Fusion eliminated eliminated Gi-hyeon “Ado” Chon of the Shanghai Dragons during a match and proceeded to crouch repeatedly on top of him. The controversial action has been a part of online games since the early days, but in 2019, teabagging, at least according to xQc, is simply a hollow shell of what it once represented.

  • xQc explains why “trash” Overwatch players actually need toxic teammates – Dexerto

xQc explains why “trash” Overwatch players actually need toxic teammates Twitch: xQc / BlizzardFélix ‘Overwatch players need to have toxic teammates so they have an excuse for when they lose a match. The Canadian has made a career out of his trash talk and over-the-top reactions, regularly drawing thousands of viewers on Twitch who are eager to see his next outburst, usually aimed at his fellow Overwatch players who he feels aren’t playing the game properly. While xQc can definitely dole out criticism in-game, it seems he thinks it’s necessary for players who aren’t good at the game, explaining his thought process in an incredible rage just moments after complaining that his own teammates didn’t understand the meta. After fuming that the current Overwatch meta “wasn’t complicated,” xQc’s chat labelled him as toxic, and that his behaviour wouldn’t help his team win the match, something which he took immediate offence to. “If you think that you would play better if somebody on your team wasn’t flaming you…” raged the Canadian. “If anything, it is worse [if you’re not getting flamed].” “It gives you something to blame, it gives you a safe spot in your heart, you feel good! ‘Oh I lost because of this, this, and this. I lost because this guy was toxic.’ No! You lost because you’re fucking trash! You lost because you’re fucking garbage! That’s why you fucking lost!” His chat clearly enjoyed his furious outburst, but xQc still wasn’t happy, again criticising his teammates by referring to their composition as “GOATS insta-lose,” seemingly oblivious that he was blaming his teammates for his loss. Unsurprisingly, his constant criticism of his teammates didn’t lead to an upturn in their fortunes, with his team losing just minutes later. While xQc’s chat may be right about his “toxic behaviour,” it doesn’t look like he has any intention of changing it.

  • xQc fails hilariously while playing GTA Online for the first time – Dexerto

xQc fails hilariously while playing GTA Online for the first time xQc, Twitter / Rockstar GamesPopular Twitch streamer and Overwatch pro Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel went live with a game of Grand Theft Auto Online for the very first time – and ended up running into a few difficulties. While xQc is notable for his Overwatch play, the streamer often broadcasts other titles, as well; and this time, he chose Grand Theft Auto Online. xQc went live with the game on February 16, where he took a pedestrian route in the middle of the road – and suddenly died by suicide, for no apparent reason. “What happened?” he asked. “I don’t know what happened. The streamer appeared to be flummoxed by his sudden death, as did his chat, when he encountered another fatality shortly thereafter. xQc broke open the window of a parked vehicle when the car suddenly exploded, sending his character flying through the air. That wasn’t the end of xQc’s missteps, either; he ran into the road just after respawning and was hit by a semi truck, hilariously adding to his series of unfortunate deaths. Finished GTA V full story. Went online for 5 minutes and got ddosed. Fun stream regardless, be there early tomorrow morning. — xQc (@xQc) February 17, 2019 The streamer appeared to get hacked shortly thereafter, likely thanks to GTA Online’s P2P networking, which allows modders and hackers to see the IP addresses of other players. His camera bugged out while flying above the city in a Delorean, with his character suddenly wearing a series of traffic cones seemingly out of nowhere. While xQc was the unfortunate target of mischievous modders, his stream of the game brought his audience plenty of laughs – thanks to getting “wasted” so many times.

  • xQc explains what ‘the juice’ is and we’re more confused than ever – Dexerto

xQc explains what ‘the juice’ is and we’re more confused than ever Robert Paul for Blizzard EntertainmentFélix ‘xQc’ Lengyel often mentions “the juice” when he is streaming, and now the streamer has decided to explain what exactly it is he’s talking about. Viewers who frequent the Canadian’s stream will regularly hear him talking about how things “are the juice,” and sometimes even implores his fans to go out and “get that juice.” On his Thursday, January 31 stream, Lengyel finally explained what this notorious “juice” really is, in a way that only xQc could pull off – an incredible motivational speech. When asked by a member of his Twitch chat to explain what exactly “the juice” is, xQc explained that it had a different meaning to each person, using some inspirational music to hammer home his point to his audience. “There’s no clear definition of what the juice is,” Lengyel explained to his chat. “The juice is whatever you make it. It can be anything. Nobody can define what it is for you, you know what the juice is. “For me, the juice is whenever I win. That’s my juice. But maybe your juice is when you make a nice piece of art, hell yeah, that’s your juice! Maybe you like when people notice you, you want fame, that’s your juice. Maybe you like money and buying shit, and that’s the juice.” This isn’t the first time xQc has gotten philosophical on stream, as back on January 26 he went on an incredible rant as he tried to figure out whether the concept of truth actually existed. The former Overwatch pro has returned to the game in recent weeks after a period spent away for the popular Blizzard title, but Lengyel is still trying out other games as he transitions into becoming more of a variety streamer. It might be best to stay quiet when he’s playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive though, as one fan found out on January 31.

  • xQc explains why “trash game reviewers” are wrong about Death Stranding – Dexerto

xQc explains why “trash game reviewers” are wrong about Death Stranding Félix ‘xQc‘ Lengyel isn’t one to pull punches in his criticism of video games, but after seeing a flood of “overly bad” reviews for Death Stranding he’s moved to defend it. The new title, which was developed by Kojima Productions and released on November 8, has proved to be a lightning rod for debate within the online gaming community. It is the first project director Hideo Kojima has worked on since the production company split off from Konami in 2015, meaning there was a lot of anticipation building towards its launch, and after completing it on stream xQc decided to hit out at everybody who has bashed it with reviews. At the time of writing, Death Stranding – which recorded PlayStation’s second-largest launch on the PS4 console in the United Kingdom according to GamesIndustry.biz – has an 83% approval rate on Metacritic, which states that the title has “mixed or average” reviews. During a broadcast on November 10, the former Overwatch professional player said: “Obviously the game was poorly received by trash game reviewers that couldn’t play the game properly and would get stuck on parts where you have to walk a lot, because they couldn’t climb properly because they’re just stupid, so they gave it an overly bad review.” “If you’re someone that’s more for gameplay, then, of course, this would have a bad review, but not that bad. Not as bad as people gave it in the first place – no way dude.” When asked about what he would rate the game out of 10, he decided to go with a 9.5 at the first time of asking, but soon changed his mind – as seen in the clip below. Even after admitting that he can see why some players have had problems with the game, xQc predicted that it would certainly be scooping several video game awards in the near future. Whether or not that comes to fruition remains to be seen, but Hideo Kojima and his team will certainly be hoping for something to that effect.

  • xQc enrages Greekgodx with hilarious Minecraft prank – Dexerto

xQc enrages Greekgodx with hilarious Minecraft prank Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has become well known for getting angry while playing games, but a recent Minecraft prank he pulled on Dimitri ‘Greekgodx’ Antonatos was designed to get his fellow streamer riled up. While xQc is best known for his incredible skills on Overwatch, the Canadian has began to branch out and try other games on his channel, transitioning himself into more of a variety streamer than Overwatch mainstay. Lengyel has already tried out titles like Pokémon: Let’s Go! and Beyond: Two Souls, and on Tuesday, January 22 hopped on to a Minecraft server with Antonatos and Tyler ‘Tyler1’ Steinkamp. While searching through a cave system on the open-world sandbox game, xQc came across a large pool of lava, and immediately began to think about how he could use the deadly substance to mess with his fellow players. Lengyel quickly jumped into the lava, setting himself on fire and taking a lot of damage in the process. Just as he was about to die, xQc opened up the game’s text box and typed in a command that would teleport Greekgodx to his location, condemning his fellow streamer to the same fiery end that he had just met. “Let’s go baby!” screamed xQc as Antonatos screamed in frustration. “Let’s go!” While xQc has taken a step back from Overwatch, the Canadian has shown that he is still incredibly skilled at the game with a crazy Winston clutch that secured a victory for his squad. The game does still frustrate Lengyel though, with the streamer completely losing his mind after a loss in his 46th Overwatch match of the day on Monday.

The Canadian streamer was flipping through videos with his chat when he came across an old clip from longtime CS:GO veteran İsmailcan ‘XANTARES’ Dörtkardeş’s stream that caught xQc’s eye. The clip was not even five seconds long, but it was enough to mystify xQc on the decidedly strange camera angles that he’s seen CS:GO broadcasters utilize on a regular basis. “Cause I always wondered… woooah, the fu–,” xQc said after being interrupted mid thought. “Every CS:GO streamers have these garbage ass camera angles.” The former Overwatch pro proceeded to move his own camera in a mocking display of how his stream would look if he took a similar, albeit exaggerated, approach to recording himself on Twitch. He demonstrated awful viewpoints that included showing a sliver of forehead peering over his computer’s monitor, having his mouse centered with a part of his right shoulder completely filling the frame, and what he said was the “NICKMERCS angle” that only showed his forehead peering from the bottom of the camera. xQc is famously unapologetic when it comes to giving an opinion on anything he finds unfavorable, and CS:GO audiences might finally have something to agree when it comes to camera angles in the scene.

xQc claps back after hilarious Harry Potter roast donation xQc Instagram / Warner BrosOverwatch professional player was playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive during a broadcast on September 12, with a series of hilarious donation messages being read out on screen for him to see. While he often leaves the jokes to build up throughout the course of his streams, one message comparing him to a character from J.K. Rowling’s mega-popular wizarding world prompted a strong response from him. 600Lengyel was sporting a fresh haircut, which was a little shorter than usual, and it didn’t take long for one viewer to make an easy comparison between him and a member of the Malloy family. “Yo, what’s up Draco Malfoy? Nice haircut by the way. Guessing you got tired of Hogwarts and decided to stream for muggles ay. Blimey, you’re bloody awful at this game,” the text-to-speech voice stated, before the donator landed a heavy blow. “You should probably use some magic like Gitticus Goodigus you daft cunt.” The streamer is no stranger to hilarious donations and trolls appearing in his chat, though, and he’s even previously gone as far as saying that the community he had built on Twitch has made him numb in some ways. That never stopped him from firing back with a hilarious shot of his own, though, after quickly responding with: “Alright, well I’ll just go and play quidditch right up your mom’s booty hole man.” Draco might well have emerged as one of the most villainous characters in the Harry Potter novels, but there’s definitely no similarity in the way these two speak – even if they have the same hair color. Then again, Malfoy never had a Twitch channel, did he?

  • X-Files superfan solves 25-year-old mystery about long-lost Dreamland song – Dexerto

X-Files superfan solves 25-year-old mystery about long-lost Dreamland song FoxSince 1998, X-Files fans have struggled to place the title and artist of a song played in the background of one of the show’s Season 6 episodes, now, thanks to Twitter, the mystery has finally been solved. When it comes to atmospheric musical choices, the X-Files has rarely disappointed, featuring hits from the likes of Nick Cave and the Foo Fighters — to say nothing of the show’s iconic theme song. But one track featured in an earlier episode has had folks scratching their heads about who wrote it for over two decades. That’s when one Twitter user decided they were going to get to the bottom of things. The song in question was featured in the episode Dreamland II, the fifth episode of the show’s sixth season. And her sleuthing paid off, with the query eventually reaching the ears of composer, Rob Cairns, who happened to know the X-Files music editor at the time, he suggested tracking down the cue sheet. Another user followed Cairns’ suggestion and tracked down the cue sheet from the episode. The song “Staring at the Stars” was written by musician Dan Marfisi and Emmy award winner Glenn Jordan, specifically for the show, you can catch its appearance in the episode in the video below. The recording was never publicly released, the reason fans of the show were left wondering about the origins all this time. Marfisi and Jordan penned the tune in just four hours, Marfisi spoke with NPR about writing it, explaining: “We had a directive to write something that would fit both an alien and a human being… And we kind of looked up in the sky and said, what’s up there besides aliens? And we found stars … that was our brainstorming session.”

  • xQc and Dr Disrespect take shots at EA Games amid Apex Legends issues – Dexerto

xQc and Dr Disrespect take shots at EA Games amid Apex Legends issues Apex Legends has gone down a storm with players and streamers around the world, but Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel couldn’t resist taking a few shots at EA games after watching Dr Disrespect rant about the Origin platform. The former Overwatch pro was watching a clip of fellow Twitch streamer Dr Disrespect venting his frustration’s with EA’s Origin platform after being met with a ‘cloud sync error’ that prevented him from playing Apex Legends, the popular new free-to-play battle royale title. “Jesus Christ, this Origin sucks!” the Doc called out as he discovered the error. “EA, get rid of it. Just get rid of it. Like, nice idea EA, it’s not working out, just get rid of it. Put everything on Steam.” The former Overwatch pro is now one of the biggest names on Twitch. This prompted xQc to take things one step further, by trying to prove that EA is failing as a company, despite the popularity of Apex Legends. “No, it’s [Origin] working guys – I promise,” he stated sarcastically before heading to Google in an attempt to use the company’s current stock price as a way to emphasize his point. “Guys, I know the stock market,” Lengyel added before being met with a graph EA’s share prices dropping significantly in recent months. After taking a few moments to let his point sink in, xQc closed the page and concluded, in a sheepish manner: “Changing topic guys.” It is outspoken highlights and moments of humor like this that keep viewers flooding back to xQc’s channel, making him one of the most popular Twitch personalities over the last 12 months. While his more controversial opinions, including labeling people who enjoy traveling as ‘hipster retards’, create some negativity around him, they don’t appear to affect his growth – he continues to maintain a strong standing on the streaming platform.

  • X enters the streaming wars with new affiliate program to compete with Twitch & Kick – Dexerto

X enters the streaming wars with new affiliate program to compete with Twitch & Kick XGaming / Instagram: gmhikaru, esfandtvSocial media platform X is competing with the likes of Twitch and YouTube after officially launching an Affiliate program to sign content creators with non-exclusive contracts. Ever since Kick broke onto the scene in 2023, competition has been steadily rising in the broadcasting space. More recently, creators have been debating the idea of multi-streaming to several platforms at once… and now, X is entering the fray as a serious contender. On September 12, 2024, news broke that X, formerly Twitter, is starting to collaborate with broadcasters like Esfand, who streamed OTK’s Top Streamer event on the social platform. A quick look at X Gaming’s profile shows a number of broadcasters under its banner, including chess GM Hikaru Nakamura, Esfand, 100 Thieves’ Castro, and Fortnite pro MrSavage, among others. In total, there are 31 streamers under X’s Affiliate program thus far. Streamers affiliated with X boast a red badge by their handles, which includes an image of a gaming controller. Thus far, little is known about X’s affiliate program or how streamers can qualify for it. While this is far from the first time broadcasters have expanded their content to the platform, it marks a major development in the streaming landscape. In fact, mere days prior to this news, internet personality Dr Disrespect revealed that he’d be broadcasting on X. He claimed he “didn’t have a subscribe button” on the site at the time of the announcement… and as of September 12, it looks like he hasn’t been given a shiny red button to join the platform’s other Affiliates. X’s Affiliate program follows the induction of Kick’s Creator program in 2023, which allows streamers who meet certain requirements to make money on the platform, similar to Twitch. While many live streaming services offer their own version of this model, it’s unclear what the specifics are of X’s own endeavor — or how other streamers can get in on it.

  • WWE’s Undertaker crashes Dr Disrespect’s Overwatch placements stream – Dexerto

WWE’s Undertaker crashes Dr Disrespect’s Overwatch placements stream Flickr: Megan Elice Meadows / Twitch: Dr DisrespectDr Disrespect was winding up his Overwatch placements for the season before he was rudely interrupted by a ‘call’ from the Undertaker, telling the streamer that he has “no patience for the Two-Time.” Dr Disrespect is used to fielding calls from various celebrities. From fellow streamers like Michael ‘shroud’ Grzemiek, to developers like ‘Playerunknown’ and even debt collectors, the Doc’s cell is always buzzing. While he’s usually the king of conversation, one phone call from the Undertaker left the streamer rattled — rattled enough to even turn off his stream and stop his Overwatch placements entirely. The Doc was just finishing up his Overwatch placements, hovering around Silver-Gold elo and getting increasingly frustrated as losses kept flowing his way. After someone dodged his final game though, he received a call with no caller ID. A glitch graphic played over the stream, with the Doc’s slightly-jovial mood quickly turning to fear. “I’m looking for someone” played over the Two-Time’s mic, and as the phone kept buzzing, he looked at it, seemingly hoping it would pick itself up. As the scenery changed to outside his arena, with a bright banner telling him to pick it up, the Doc composed himself and took the call, which happened to be from none other than WWE superstar the Undertaker. “You’ve trespassed on sacred ground,” the voice rung out. “I have no patience for the two-time. WWE is my domain, my yard. Your transgressions will be punished. “Dr Disrespect, you will rest — in — peace” the voice — which sounded exactly like Mark William Calaway himself — continued. The two-time wanted nothing to do with the threat, bailing off camera as quickly as possible, and ending the stream a few short seconds later. While he professes to be a “6’8” Gaming Freak of Nature,” one has to question whether he’d last 30 seconds in a cell with the Undertaker himself. That wasn’t the only exciting thing that happened to the Doc on his latest Overwatch endeavor. The official Overwatch account dropped by to gift 100 subs to the two-time’s followers as a show of support for the streamer picking the game back up. He also had to deal with his fair share of trolls, ragers, and toxic players on his grind through lower elo, although he never actually got to the end of his Damage placements on stream. While he has a 1-3 record for now, we’ll have to wait until tomorrow, or another time, to see where he actually gets placed. After all, he’s got some business with the Undertaker to take care of, and that seems a lot more pressing.

  • WWE’s John Morrison calls out Logan Paul, Jake & KSI after Creator Clash victory – Dexerto

WWE’s John Morrison calls out Logan Paul, Jake & KSI after Creator Clash victory WWE Superstar John Morrison pulled off a massive upset against Harley of Epic Meal Time during Creator Clash 2, and now he’s calling out the biggest names in influencer boxing including Logan Paul, Jake Paul, and KSI. Harley Morenstein set a precedent following his fight against Arin Hanson at Creator Clash 1. The heavyweight monster brutally beat his opponent and bravely accepted anyone who dared challenge him in the ring. Little did he know, his next opponent would be WWE Superstar John Morrison. A man whom Harley towered over in weight and stature, yet he stood no chance of defeating. While Morrison claimed his worst field of combat was boxing, he approached the ring as David approached Goliath, easily dismantling his giant foe in two rounds. And after the bout, he set his sights on some of influencer boxing’s biggest stars. Morrison challenges KSI to a boxing match After his victory, John Morrison was asked who he would want to step in the ring with next. There are not many people who might want to step into the ring with him after such an intense fight, but he had a few fighters on his mind. “There are some influencer boxers I have zero respect for. Jake Paul? Blegh! Logan Paul? Blegh! They both make me sick. The Paul brothers make me sick. Overnight tough guys. The entire Misfits boxing promotion, they’re all the sh*ts.” He then moved on to who he would accept a fight from. “Jake? Logan? No! Jake got beat. Logan got beat by KSI. Which is why I’m gonna put KSI on blast right now!” While a boxing match could take place between Morrison and KSI at some point, it wouldn’t be until later this year. KSI recently announced his next bout will be against Joe Fournier on May 13.

  • WWE superstar Liv Morgan responds after married fan is outed for messaging fake account – Dexerto

WWE superstar Liv Morgan responds after married fan is outed for messaging fake account X: WrestleOps / Instagram: yaonlylivvonceWWE superstar Liv Morgan has responded after finding out a married fan had been messaging a fake account pretending to be her. In this age of social media, scammers have taken to new methods when it comes to scouting a potential victim. Creating fake Instagram accounts of celebrities, whether they be actors or sporting superstars, is just one way scammers have found their way into people’s private messages. One man participating in a “loyalty test” was outed for having been messaging a fake account of WWE superstar Liv Morgan… despite having been married for eight years. Asked to go through one another’s phones, the man’s wife discovered he had been corresponding with the fake account. He tried to claim that he “probably didn’t answer” as he thought the account’s questions surrounding his relationship status were “stupid.” However, his wife quickly shut him down, saying, “Yes, you have!” And she didn’t look all too convinced by his reasoning. When asked if she wanted to continue checking his phone, she declined, stating, “No, ‘cause there’s going to be more sh** on there.” Now the real Liv Morgan has responded, sharing the clip on X (formerly Twitter) with a simple “Ya’ll” and a sad emoji. “Not your name being thrown into some mess you ain’t got nothing to do with,” one person on the platform said. Morgan responded, “I feel terrible bro.” Fans were quick to send their support, assuring Morgan that the situation was not her fault. One person wrote, “You can’t control what other people out there do. That person decided to deceive other people by pretending to be you. That’s on them, not you. And it’s a shame that people do that. It is very unfortunate.” Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

  • WWE Superstars set for Twitch streaming return as new deal inked – Dexerto

WWE Superstars set for Twitch streaming return as new deal inked YouTube: WWEWWE Superstars might be able to stream on Twitch again after the wrestling company has reportedly made a new deal with the broadcasting platform. In 2020, the WWE notably placed restrictions on its talent who created content on third-party platforms, the most notable of those being Twitch. At that time, a fair amount of WWE stars were streaming on Twitch, including names like Paige and Austin Creed of UpUpDownDown fame. This crackdown would take any proceeds their Superstars received while making content under their stage names, or shut their channels down, completely — resulting in stars like Paige breaking down during a broadcast in October of that year over the new restrictions. WWE creates new deal with Twitch to allow Superstar streams However, it looks like this policy is about to change. According to reports from Sean Ross Sapp of FightfulSelect, the WWE has apparently inked a new deal with Twitch that will allow its talent to continue streaming on the service under their own channels. According to reports, this new deal will enact a three-way split between Twitch, the wrestling talent involved, and the WWE, with Twitch and the individual SuperStar taking a majority of the payment cut. Thus far, the only restriction appears to be that wrestlers from other promotional companies will not be allowed to stream with the WWE’s Superstars — unless the WWE clears it, first. Previously, the WWE gave its talent 30 days to shut down their channels, or hand over full control of their accounts to the company. “It is imperative that these activities be terminated within the next 30 days,” CEO Vince McMahon said in a statement to every WWE employee on September 4, 2020. “Continued violations will result in fines, suspension or termination at WWE’s discretion.” Luckily, it looks like this widely unpopular decision is getting the boot, following rumors that the viral WWE sale to Saudi Arabi was purportedly faked to entice other buyers.

  • WWE star Roman Reigns mysteriously banned from TikTok – Dexerto

WWE star Roman Reigns mysteriously banned from TikTok TikTok/WikiMedia: Richard FreedaWWE superstar Roman Reigns has, mysteriously, disappeared from TikTok with his account now showing an ‘account banned’ message. Here’s what we know. When TikTok first started life as a platform for artists and other creatives, it spawned a wave of brand-new internet stars. Though, over time, plenty of mainstream names have made their way over there. Now, whenever you load up TikTok, you’re probably going to come across a famous face that you recognize. The likes of Britney Spears, Ed Sheeran, and Selena Gomez are consistently posting on the short-form video app for millions of fans. One person you won’t see, at least temporarily, is WWE star Roman Reigns – real name Joe Anoaʻi. The long-time WWE Champion has had his account banned for some reason, and fans can’t quite believe it. Why was Roman Reigns banned on TikTok? That’s right, The Tribal Chief’s account – which previously had over 1.3 million followers – disappeared out of the blue on July 5 and was hit with an ‘account banned’ message. This is different from permanently deleted accounts which show a different message, leading to speculation as to why it’s disappeared. With those longer bans, TikTok typically reveals which guideline an account has broken, but that hasn’t happened here. As a result, Reigns’ ban likely came as a result of one of his wrestling highlights being flagged for violence. Yes, it might not be real, but it can still be flagged for simulated violence. As noted, plenty of professional wrestling fans have chimed in on the ban, with many referring to the poor time Reigns has had in the ring now extending to social media. “Pinning Roman Reigns wasn’t enough. Jey Uso had to get him banned from Tiktok too,” joked one. “TikTok no longer acknowledges him,” said another. “Nothing going right for the Tribal Chief at the moment!” added another. Given it doesn’t appear to be a permanent ban, his account will likely return to normal before long, so WWE fans will be able to get their fix again.

  • WWE Superstar Grayson Waller fires back after Joey Swoll callout – Dexerto

WWE Superstar Grayson Waller fires back after Joey Swoll callout WWE/Instagram: Joey SwollJoey Swoll and WWE Superstar Grayson Waller have come to metaphorical blows after Swole called out Waller for his gym etiquette. Self-proclaimed CEO of gym positivity Joey Swoll is no stranger to calling people out for bad behaviour in the gym. Recently he set his sights on WWE Superstars Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. After calling out the two professional wrestlers in a viral video, the Swoll army ridiculed the WWE Superstars. Waller, who has been cozying up to Logan Paul recently, is no stranger to a verbal joust and has clapped back at Joey Swoll and his fans. Fans of both have been going back and forth on X as the two duke it out. However, there is a chance that this whole thing is a work. The whole thing kicked off with a TikTok from Swoll seemingly berating Waller and Theory for their behavior while filming at a gym. Of course, Swoll did challenge Theory to a wrestling match so in all likelihood, it could just be some viral marketing for the upcoming WrestleMania 40 or even an actual match down the line. Waller chimed in with a response of his own sticking up for his tag team partner and on-screen bestie. Calling Swoll a “giant flop” which, for folks that don’t speak Australian, is tantamount to being called a loser. The WWE Superstar even posted his own video to X roasting Swoll and his fanbase. Alleging that he’d received a number of hateful DMs, Waller took some shots. “For a bunch of people who worship you (Joey Swoll) as a gym guy, your fans are a bunch of fat, ugly losers,” Waller quipped. “Maybe your fans should have spent more time reading than pretending to go to the gym.” Waller is well known for his incorrigible on-air personality and his job is to get people riled up so most folks in the comments are taking it in stride. It’s probably a little too late for a WrestleMania spot but we might see Joey Swoll enter the ring with either Theory or Waller at some point down the line.

  • WWE star Paige banned on Twitch for the first time – Dexerto

WWE star Paige banned on Twitch for the first time Twitch: SarayaOfficialWWE superstar Saraya-Jade Bevis, better known to the WWE universe as Paige, has been given her first Twitch ban, with no clear reason as to why. Twitch’s ban hammer is a fierce one. Streamers won’t always be told the exact reason and could face bans for any length of time based on their indiscretion, be it from just a day to a lifetime ban. For example, the reason behind Dr Disrespect’s lifetime Twitch ban is still completely unknown to everyone, and that came at a time where he was arguably the biggest name on the platform. Every day multiple Twitch partners are banned, but it’s not often they have much of a universal audience or the level of celebrity as someone like Paige. She’s a multiple-time champion, having scooped the NXT title and breaking through to the main roster like no other, where she became the youngest ever Divas Champion in WWE history. Since that time, she’s featured in multiple WWE television shows, such as Total Divas and Tough Enough, helping her become a mainstream star. Why is Paige banned on Twitch? While it’s not clear what the exact reason is, with Paige not speaking about the ban yet, fans and viewers seem to believe it’s a DMCA claim. Read More: Twitch bans verified “DaBaby” channel – According to a number of people online on the SquaredCircle subreddit, Paige was streaming an unofficial watch party of Jim Carrey’s 1994 hit Dumb & Dumber. Twitch has a proper Watch Party function for streamers to watch some movies and TV shows on Amazon Prime Video, but reportedly Paige wasn’t utilizing this option and hence faced a DMCA ban as a result. While this can’t be verified at the time of writing, it definitely seems a plausible explanation and is a clear reason for a ban. If not using the official ‘Watch Party’ function, most streamers will often simply react and give their audience the chance to watch along with them. If the rumors are to be believed, Paige simply watched the film on-stream. Paige officially retired from in-ring competition at the age of 25 back in April 2018, following a string of neck injuries. But she has since held several non-competing roles with the WWE and built a big audience on Twitch, too. We’ll be sure to update this page as and when any confirmation is made regarding Paige’s Twitch ban.

  • WWE reportedly taking control of all wrestler Twitch accounts – Dexerto

WWE reportedly taking control of all wrestler Twitch accounts YouTube: WWE / TwitchWhile World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. (WWE) may be the most globally recognizable brand when it comes to sports entertainment, the company has come under extreme scrutiny for new and restrictive measures to take over wrestler’s Twitch accounts. The world of professional wrestling is often compared to a traveling circus. Talented performers move from country to country each week in order to entertain fans with acrobatic feats and over the top storytelling. Despite raking in tens of millions each year, WWE still treats its wrestlers as independent contractors. As a result of this, they’re not afforded many basic workers rights such as annual leave or health insurance to name a few. In recent years, many have looked outside of the wrestling bubble for a little extra compensation on the side. Whether it was Cameo to create quick, personalized videos for fans, or YouTube, to give fans a more intricate look behind the scenes. One such avenue was livestreaming on Twitch. A number of key personalities stream on the Amazon-owned platform, sharing their gaming downtime with fans around the world. However, WWE recently tried to put a stop to these extra activities and now, this move has reportedly gone through. “It is imperative that these activities be terminated within the next 30 days,” CEO Vince McMahon shared with every WWE employee on September 4. “Continued violations will result in fines, suspension or termination at WWE’s discretion.” Since then, wrestlers were informed that they were allowed to keep their accounts running on various third-party platforms. However, WWE needed to be informed of each account. Over the next four weeks, the wrestling company will be taking control of them all, according to reports from Wrestling Inc. WWE will be in direct control of these accounts, though talent will still be entitled to a percentage of revenue. Instead of taking home all of the income through their work outside of the squared circle, this now means that wrestlers are only allowed a certain cut. From the longest reigning NXT champion Adam Cole to The New Day’s Xavier Woods, plenty of the biggest stars in the industry have honed in on Twitch over the past few years. Perhaps these streams could soon come to an end by WWE’s hand. There’s no telling just how big a shakeup this might cause, though many have already been deleting their Cameo accounts just to be safe. Perhaps an exodus on Twitch could be right around the corner. WWE will allegedly be taking control of every Twitch account in exactly four weeks. Keep your eyes peeled towards the end of October for any major developments.

  • WWE responds to CM Punk’s AEW debut with Logan Paul return – Dexerto

WWE responds to CM Punk’s AEW debut with Logan Paul return AEW / WWEWWE responded to former superstar CM Punk’s debut on AEW by making a special announcement of their own — Logan Paul will return to Monday Night Raw for the third time in 2021. Logan Paul burst onto the fighting scene in 2019 after taking on Olajide Olayinka Williams ‘KSI’ Olatunji in a sanctioned boxing match. He kicked it up a notch in 2021 after going the distance against Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout. But that’s not all he’s been up to. He made his professional wrestling debut for WWE after apppearing alongside Sami Zayn on Friday Night Smackdown. He was also floored with a Stone Cold Stunner from Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 37 a week later. And now that CM Punk debuted on AEW after a shock switch to the rival company, WWE responded by getting Logan to come back for the third time. After all, the near-capacity crowd blew the roof of the stadium as the iconic superstar walked out to his trademark song. In fact, the loudest pop he got last time was when Kevin Owens dropped him. But that doesn’t mean he won’t be a useful asset. Some would say he’d even make the perfect heel given the mixed opinions people have about him. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out once the show goes live on Monday, August 23.

  • WWE legend Ric Flair responds to Logan Paul & Jake Paul wanting to be wrestlers – Dexerto

WWE legend Ric Flair responds to Logan Paul & Jake Paul wanting to be wrestlers YouTube: Valuetainment / WWELegendary retired wrestling pro Ric Flair has given his two cents on YouTubers Jake and Logan Paul wanting careers in the WWE. Jake and Logan Paul are brothers first, YouTube stars second, and, most recently, a pair of hungry up-and-coming boxers. The duo first stepped into the ring in August 2018, where Logan Paul notably faced off against former rival KSI and Jake Paul defeated fellow YouTuber Deji. Since then, the brothers have effectively shaped the influencer boxing trend as we know it today, with Logan taking on none other than Floyd Mayweather while Jake Paul boasts an undefeated 5-0 record. However, boxing is just the beginning for Logan; the influencer has high hopes to make a full career out of the WWE, having appeared in several of the org’s events over the past year or so. Most recently, he was praised for his performance against Rey Mysterio and Dom Mysterio on Monday Night Raw in March — and is even becoming a playable character in WWE 2K22. Ric Flair reacts to Logan Paul’s WWE performances But what do the pros think about Logan’s penchant for piledrivers? Paparazzi from The Hollywood Fix caught up with none other than retired wrestling legend Ric Flair to get his take on the situation. Flair appeared to have respect for the Paul bros and wasn’t shutting down the possibility of them making a career for themselves in the wrestling world. “I respect them both,” Flair said when approached with the subject. “They obviously are in good shape in everything, so who knows.” (Topic begins at 0:48) This news follows UFC President Dana White saying he was open to the possibility of the deadly YouTube pair making their way into the octagon — in spite of Jake’s constant comments about UFC fighter pay. While it’s unclear if the Paul bros have a full-time future in pro wrestling, Logan’s current exploits with the WWE are certainly bolstering his portfolio, should the org ever consider adding influencers to its arsenal.

  • WWE reportedly booking Logan Paul segments carefully to avoid live boos – Dexerto

WWE reportedly booking Logan Paul segments carefully to avoid live boos Instagram: Logan PaulThe WWE is reportedly being very careful with how they book Logan Paul in the lead-up to Summerslam to ensure he isn’t getting booed every time he walks out into the ring during live shows. In the latest instalment of Monday Night Raw, the show opened with Logan Paul and The Miz going at it in the ring. Neither of them got a proper introduction or walkout which is common practice when it comes to the opening of a wrestling show. Logan Paul officially signed with the WWE after his impressive stint last year during Wrestlemania. While his previous appearance had him play the role of heel, the WWE is wanting to push him as a babyface this time around. However, according to Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer, this was a deliberate move by the WWE to avoid Paul getting booed during his entrance. Later on, in the show, Paul was taken out by the Miz during a segment. When The Miz hit him with the skull-crushing finale, the crowd began cheering “one more time”. Clearly, the WWE universe is not buying Paul’s role as a baby face as well as the company might have hoped. The transition not going as organically as they would like and so Melter’s comment furthers the idea that the WWE is doing everything they can to minimize opportunities for Paul to receive boos from fans. The move to make Paul a babyface is a surprising one given how easily he won over fans as a heel. And while The Miz may be a fantastic bad guy, he has now hit a point in his career where he is so beloved that even when playing the heel the audience does still root for him. Time will tell if the WWE crowd stop booing Logan Paul. However, with Summerslam only a couple of days away, it is unlikely he will be able to win them over before his big match against The Miz at the PPV.

  • WWE insider reveals why Logan Paul already has a title match against Roman Reigns – Dexerto

WWE insider reveals why Logan Paul already has a title match against Roman Reigns WWEYouTuber-turned-boxer and now WWE superstar Logan Paul is set to face off against Roman Reigns for the Universal Title very soon into his career, but according to a pro-wrestling insider, there’s a good reason for it. Logan Paul will be battling Roman Reigns at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event in Saudi Arabia come November in a match that very few saw coming. The match was officially announced at a press conference in Las Vegas, Nevada where it was further revealed that the bout would be for the Universal Championship. Some fans have been confused as to why Logan Paul is receiving a title match and competing against the WWE’s top star so early in his career. During an interview with TSN, Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer explained why WWE made this decision. Dave Meltzer explains why Logan Paul already has a title match Speaking with TSN Radio, Meltzer revealed that Logan Paul is a massive hit in Saudi Arabia, especially with a Saudi prince. “He’s a big deal to the Saudi Arabian prince and that’s the whole thing of these shows,” Meltzer said. Furthermore, it’s not even a matter of selling more tickets. According to Meltzer, it’s all about booking matches that the Saudi prince wants to see. “It is a play because the prince wants celebrity fights in Saudi Arabia to build the name in the media of Saudi Arabia and Logan Paul will get more of the type of press that Saudi Arabia is looking for than Kevin Owens or Seth Rollins,” the insider added. “That’s what Saudi Arabia is there for. Saudi Arabia is for matches that the prince wants that will get press attention around the world for Saudi Arabia so this is a great match for that.” In any case, it would seem quite unlikely given Meltzer’s comments that Logan Paul wins the WWE Universal title in Saudi Arabia, but stranger things have definitely happened in the world of pro-wrestling.

WWE legend Ric Flair makes $700,000 doing short Cameo clips WWEWWE legend Ric Flair has earned nearly $700,000 by starring in short cameo clips for wrestling fans. With a career that stretches over half a century, Ric Flair is regarded as one of the best professional wrestlers of all time. He’s yet to truly step away from the ring, though. A match against Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 24 market Flair’s go at retirement as many may recall. However, The Nature Boy has come out of retirement twice, with his last match taking place at SummerSlam 2022. But other lucrative endeavors still help bring in plenty of dough for the iconic wrestler. Ric Flair makes a killing doing cameo clips for fans During a recent episode of his To Be The Man podcast, Flair fielded questions from fans about potentially returning to the WWE. The WWE icon said he doubts the organization would ask him back, “because I’m too good at what I do. Even at my age. Trust me, I’m not talking about being a producer, [or] a writer. I’m talking about if they give me a microphone and let me have at it, you tell me.” According to Outkick, Flair proceeded to share a screenshot with his co-host, Conrad Thompson, which showed that he’s made $669,861.71 in the last year and change. The money comes from his appearances in fan-requested videos, where he’ll feature for no more than two minutes or so. Charging $500 for each of the cameo clips allows Ric Flair to rake in a lot of extra cash. Evidently, the former WWE star and his brand continue to resonate with the public. But as someone who’s retired about as many times as Jay-Z, it seems fair to assume his time away from the sport in one capacity or another may not be permanent.

  • WWE fans praise Logan Paul for “saving” Rey Mysterio from devastating injury – Dexerto

WWE fans praise Logan Paul for “saving” Rey Mysterio from devastating injury WWELogan Paul is being praised by WWE fans online thanks to a quick thinking save he made during his recent US Championship match against Rey Mysterio, in which the influencer-turned-wrestler prevented what could have been a serious injury for his opponent. Logan Paul’s run in the WWE has hit another major milestone, with the influencer winning his first-ever title at the Pay-Per-View event Crown Jewel. Paul defeated Rey Mysterio, a WWE legend and icon, for the United States Championship, in what was an exciting match and received positive feedback from fans and critics alike. The ending solidified Paul as a heel, using brass knuckles to knock Mysterio out and secure his first-ever title with the company. And while this finish has been a big talking point of the match, a specific spot that could have led to a very serious neck injury for Mysterio has been widely discussed online. With many praising Logan Paul for his quick thinking in what could have been a scary moment for his opponent. The spot in question involved Mysterio jumping from the ropes with a springboard moonsault. However, his jump wasn’t clean and he ended up falling a bit short. Logan Paul quickly lunged forward and grabbed Mysterio who, as seen in clips of the spot, was very likely going to fall straight onto his neck. Humble Wrestling shared the moment online, captioning the Tweet “Logan Paul saved Rey’s neck.” Other social media users have also been sharing their praise for Paul. Another person on Twitter wrote “Bro. After this no one can talk sh*t about LoganPaul I’m not the hugest fan of the dude. But you gotta respect the work. He just saved a HOFers life there.” Others added “I truly hated Logan Paul until he entered the ring. That guy has really just impressed every time he’s been in the ring. He’s got skill like I’ve never seen from a new blood wrestler and frankly, he deserves all the credit where due.” Now that Logan Paul is the US Champion, there’s no doubt he will make a few more appearances with the WWE before the year is up This next step in his wrestling career was a big test for him and a chance to continue winning over fans and critics alike. • WWE and UFC complete merger to create $21 billion company – Dexerto

WWE and UFC complete merger to create $21 billion company WWE/UFCVince McMahon’s WWE brand has completed its merger with UFC parent company Endeavor Group, with a reported price of over $9.3 billion being paid to scoop up the pro wrestling company. It had previously been reported by CNBC that the WWE had been in “advanced talks” with UFC parent company Endeavour Group about handing over the reins to a new buyer, following claims that Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund wanted to scoop it up. Well, as of April 3, it has now been confirmed that Endeavor has purchased 51% of World Wrestling Entertainment, with WWE shareholders then maintaining the remaining 49% of the company. The price for the pro wrestling company is around $9.3 billion, with the merger taking Endeavor’s two sports companies to a value of around $21 billion. WWE and UFC merge finally happened Endeavor boss Ari Emanuel will act as chief executive for Endeavor’s new brand, with Vince McMahon continuing to serve as executive chairman of the WWE. It’s unknown if McMahon will return to his previous role in running day-to-day operations for WWE’s shows. With the two wrestling juggernauts serving under one banner, personnel changes are always a possibility. However, Endeavor President Mark Shapiro will also work in the same role at the new company. Dana White will remain as president of UFC, while WWE CEO Nick Khan will serve as president of the wrestling business. This news comes following the largest event of the year for WWE, WrestleMania, which finished up on April 2nd. On the first night, content creator and PRIME creator Logan Paul lost his first match for the company after a gutsy performance against one of the best in Seth Rollins. With the two fighting brands under the same company, this could mean more collaborations and crossovers between the two might be on the horizon. However, time will tell how exactly this potential deal plays out. For all the latest entertainment news and updates, be sure to check out Dexerto’s full coverage here.

  • WWE champion Roman Reigns praises Logan Paul for WrestleMania 38 effort – Dexerto

WWE champion Roman Reigns praises Logan Paul for WrestleMania 38 effort Instagram: RomanReigns / WWEWWE’s biggest superstar today, Roman Reigns, has praised Logan Paul for his work effort ahead of WrestleMania 38, claiming the YouTube star had plenty of fans “tuned in.” A year after first stepping foot into a WWE ring, Logan Paul finally made his debut at WrestleMania 38 this past weekend. While he picked up the win over legendary wrestler Rey Mysterio, it didn’t end well for the social media celeb. His tag team partner, The Miz, suddenly turned, leaving Paul face down in the ring to end his night. With many praising his performance overall, it could leave the door open for a full-time run in the near future, perhaps one that starts with him getting some revenge. With the likes of Miz himself, along with Ric Flair and others, having already praised his efforts, the ‘Head of the Table’ has now joined in too, as newly Unified Champion Roman Reigns has commented on his Mania debut. Logan Paul’s WWE debut was a memorable onepic.twitter.com/5rS0552J7o — Dexerto (@Dexerto) April 4, 2022 “I think as performers, you’ve gotta be multi-layered,” Reigns said in an interview with TMZSports. “In performing arts, you have to have multiple lanes of a skillset.” It’s exactly that variety that’s led the Paul brothers to success in YouTube, boxing, and now, professional wrestling, according to the WWE Champion. “These guys, yeah they started out as YouTubers, but… I don’t think I’ve ever talked to Logan Paul, even though he’s been around WWE for a few weeks now. I’ve definitely never met his brother Jake. But these guys, from everything that I’ve ever seen or heard, they put in the work.” From high-flying moves to flashy suplexes, Paul showed off a varied moveset during his in-ring debut at Mania. Rather than phoning it in and relying on his celeb status, Reigns praised him for preparing right. “They live on a full-time boxing schedule,” he said. “They train, they eat, they do everything that a professional boxer would do to prepare for a fight. “Then you tie that in with their following, that’s a huge part of this day and age, social media and these personal platforms. You’ve gotta have people tuned into what you’re doing, and they’ve done that. They’ve done the work, kudos to them.” While Reigns continues to lead as the biggest ‘needle mover’ in the company, there’s currently no telling when we may see Paul return to the ring and give him some opposition.

  • Wrestlers hit back after WWE tries to stop them streaming on Twitch – Dexerto

Wrestlers hit back after WWE tries to stop them streaming on Twitch Instagram: adamcolepro / Twitter: Vince McMahonWrestling organization WWE is attempting to prevent wrestlers that are under contract with them from streaming on third-party platforms, including Twitch, under usernames associated with the company, after Chairman Vince McMahon sent a letter to talent calling for them to cease “detrimental” third-party activities. Many wrestlers who are contracted under WWE have developed a social media following of their own, producing content on platforms such as Twitch or fan video service Cameo to connect with fans and earn extra income. Pro-wrestler Adam Cole has a Twitch following of almost 40,000, streaming games such as Final Fantasy and Fall Guys. Xavier Woods, also known as Austin Creed, streams to an audience of almost 80,000. However, this independent cross-platform content creation has clearly ruffled some feathers within the WWE, after it was reported that Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon had sent a letter on September 3 calling for those activities to be suspended. According to Fightful Select, the letter explained that “some of you are engaged with outside 3rd parties using your name and likeness in ways that are detrimental to our company.” “It is imperative that these activities be terminated within the next 30 days” McMahon went on, “continued violations will result in fines, suspension or termination at WWE’s discretion.” WWE Wrestlers speak out against the ban Talent under WWE began to speak out, Mick Foley saying “banning wrestlers from making extra money on third party deals – Twitch, YouTube, cameo – strikes me as a crummy thing to do.” https://twitter.com/RealMickFoley/status/1302038273318178819 Renee Paquette recently retired from the organization, and tweeted “sooooooo guess now would be a good time to launch my Twitch and Cameo?” Sooooooo guess now would be a good time to launch my Twitch and Cameo?? — Renee Paquette (@ReneePaquette) September 4, 2020 However, it’s yet unclear to what extent WWE are expecting their wrestlers to reduce their presence on third-party platforms. While the letter gave the impression that they needed to suspend their activity on sites like Twitch and Cameo entirely, it appears as though they may only be expected to change their username to omit ‘WWE.’ When someone suggested Saraya Jade ‘Paige’ Pevis had deleted her Twitch account, she replied that she in fact hadn’t, and asked for people to stop “spreading false information.” https://twitter.com/RealPaigeWWE/status/1302052759680643074 One commenter replied with a picture that appeared to show that her account by the name of ‘OfficialPaigeWWE’ could not be found, but she quickly put them straight but showing a screenshot of her active account, the username now ‘SarayaOfficial’ with mentions of the company omitted. https://twitter.com/RealPaigeWWE/status/1302075198439477249 It would appear that the action is then less extreme than was originally assumed, but since the wrestlers constitute independent contractors there is no doubt that backlash against the company’s heavy-handed approach will continue.

  • Wroetoshaw Roasts RiceGum In a New Diss Track – Dexerto

Wroetoshaw Roasts RiceGum In a New Diss Track Wroetoshaw – YouTube, RiceGum – YouTubeWroetoshaw called out YouTuber RiceGum in a diss track, challenging him to a boxing match a la Logan Paul vs KSI. Wroetoshaw, otherwise known as W2S, is part of a British YouTube group known as the “Sidemen.” Known for his love of luxury vehicles and energetic personality, it was only a matter of time before Wroetoshaw put his own twist on Logan Paul and KSI’s upcoming fight. W2S cited his inspiration for the video as stemming from KSI’s match with Joe Weller. It gave him the urge to throw down – and he knew exactly who he wanted to go after. “The first thing I need is an opponent. I’ve thought long and hard about this. I’m not getting punched in the face by anything that has less than ten million subs, and I also need someone who is just as desperate for attention as me.” W2S’s opponent was none other than RiceGum, a musician and YouTuber with over ten million subscribers on his main channel. After DMing RiceGum about a potential boxing match, the fight was confirmed – although the conversation’s legitimacy is somewhat questionable. W2S stated that he trained up for the match, showing a montage of comical clips where he put his strength to the test in the ring. KSI showed up, as well, giving him a legitimate punch in the stomach. While RiceGum called out WS2 on and interview with iDubbbz afterwards, stating that WS2 was “irrelevant,” the boxing match never happened. WS2 decided to take matters into his own hands. WS2 created a short diss track, where he referenced RiceGum’s past controversies and even used racist jokes to further insult him. “You pissed off China with a single vlog/ I heard you once tried to eat Alissa Violet’s dog.” WS2’s diss track precedes the Logan Paul/KSI fight by just one day. After such a callout, fans can only wait to hear RiceGum’s response.

  • WoW Classic streamer shares profanity-laced opinion on Twitch’s follower-only mode – Dexerto

WoW Classic streamer shares profanity-laced opinion on Twitch’s follower-only mode Twitch/WOWTwitch streamer Alkaizerx shared his thoughts on the platform’s follower-only and slow modes while playing World of Warcraft Classic on August 29. Follower-only is pretty self-explanatory – only people who follow that streamer are allowed to comment in the chat. Slow mode limits how many messages people can send within a certain amount of time. Basically, the tools can both help to cut the spam of unnecessary messages as well as give viewers an incentive to follow the channel. And while many on the streaming platform use the two options, Alkaizerx has no intentions to ever do so. Even when his chat is being spammed with Trihard emotes and walls of text. “‘Why not activate follower only plus slow mode?’” the Warcraft streamer read from his chat. “Because that’s what pussies do. That’s what pussy streamers do. That are scared.” “People just want to enjoy and do whatever the fuck they want in chat” he added while looking at his camera while holding his hand up in a confused fashion. “‘Follower only mode,’” he mocked. “I guess my dick’s one and a half inches. Follower only mode, guys. One and a half is too big still? Guess I’ll put slow mode on. My dick’s only half an inch now and that’s when it’s hard.” Some of the most popular streamers such as Sweet Anita, Alinity, xQc, shroud and Asmongold all stream with follower only chat enabled. So, according to Alkaizerx, they’re all pussies. “This is my safe space, guys!” the streamer further mocked before stating one final point on the mater. “People just come into Twitch chats to try and get some entertainment, enjoyment, whatever. Let them do whatever the fuck they want to do,” he concluded. While Alkaizerx’s opinion certainly is different from most, the fact he’s creating a place for people looking for an avenue to spam whatever comes to mind may be a welcome addition to the site.

  • Wren Eleanor controversy explained: TikTokers worried by “creepy” searches for viral toddler – Dexerto

Wren Eleanor controversy explained: TikTokers worried by “creepy” searches for viral toddler tiktokwren/InstagramWren Eleanor is a toddler who went viral on TikTok along with her mom Jaquelyn with over 17 million followers. However, fans were shocked when all videos of Wren disappeared from the platform in July 2024, making people wonder what happened. Family vloggers have long been a controversial topic on social media. As the genre of family content grows bigger, some people are speaking out against the creators, saying children should not be used on social media. One TikTok account in particular that features a four-year-old girl named Wren Eleanor has been raising concerns among users on the platform. The social media account, which is managed by Wren’s mother Jacquelyn, consists of a bevy of videos of the toddler and has accumulated over 17 million followers and 624 million likes. Even though sharing cute snippets of your child’s life on social media certainly isn’t prohibited, some viewers are concerned that Jacquelyn may be putting Wren’s life in danger with her content. Why are viewers worried about Wren Eleanor? On Wren’s profile, Jacquelyn typically shares videos of her daughter’s outfits, hair routine, or clips of her just being silly. However, some followers are concerned that Jacquelyn might be exploiting her daughter on the platform for likes and internet fame. The proof, according to viewers, is the thousands of people who save each TikTok video on their phones. Some people, including TikToker Jessica, have also found weird search suggestions when looking for Wren’s TikTok profile. These include “Wren Eleanor hotdog” or “Wren Eleanor pickle,” which don’t seem appropriate, according to Jessica. There’s been a movement driven by TikTok moms calling out potentially creepy people following the account; they have also accused Jacquelyn of exploiting her child on social media. The discussion has largely focused on Wren and Jacquelyn, but it’s expanded to include other TikTok mom creators who post videos of their very young children. The discourse touches on the ethics of whether images of children should even be on social media, to begin with, and has prompted many parents to delete videos of their own children from their accounts. A subreddit was also created in April 2022 where people continue to discuss whether or not these videos of Wren should be allowed to remain online. Fans have also accused Jacquelyn of purposely putting Wren in revealing clothing to gain more views and interactions. In one video created for the 4th of July, Wren was seen posing in ripped jeans and a crop top, which made hundreds of viewers comment saying she was too young to wear a top like that, and that it’d even be too short for some adults. “Uhhhhhhhhh…… yeah no that is unacceptable,” one person commented, while another said: “My dude, where is her shirt?” Jacquelyn has yet to address viewers’ concerns While some users have expressed their concerns regarding Wren on TikTok, it appears Jacquelyn has deleted many of those comments. She also turned off comments on all of her videos at some point, but they are now on again. However, Jacquelyn hasn’t posted any new videos since March 2024. Although TikTok prohibits content that exploits minors on its platform, it doesn’t look like Wren’s account has faced any repercussions. Per the Community Guidelines, “Sexual exploitation of minors includes any abuse of a position of power or trust for sexual purposes, including profiting financially, socially, sexually, or politically from the exploitation of a minor.” Fans shocked as videos disappear from TikTok In July 2024, fans were shocked to find that all videos on Wren and Jacquelyn’s TikTok account had disappeared. Although it’s not been confirmed why, many fans believe Jacquelyn decided to have the videos removed after being urged to for years. People soon took to a subreddit to discuss why the videos might have disappeared. One person wrote: “If I had to guess, I think she may have temporarily privated the videos due to the amount of backlash she is getting, and is waiting to re-upload them once people start forgetting about her again.” A second person said: “Her insta has been private basically since this all happened. Also she deleted the videos a few weeks ago. she had all of those followers before she went private, so it makes complete sense.” Jacquelyn has yet to make a public comment about fans’ concerns or why all the videos disappeared. We’ll make sure to keep you updated if the story progresses. In the meantime, check out our other guides about influencers that disappeared from the internet, including Jenna Marbles, Shane Dawson, and Corpse Husband.

Popular WoW player blasts Twitch after ‘double standards’ ban Pilav YouTubePopular YouTuber ‘PilavPowa’ has been banned from streaming on Twitch for ‘wearing sexually suggestive attire’ after getting access to the World of Warcraft Classic Beta, and the community is calling foul. World of Warcraft fans are hyped to go back and play the game as it was at release with WoW Classic and according to Twitch, one streamer got a bit too excited when learning he got into the game’s early version. Twitch audiences love the diverse and entertaining assortment of content readily available on the streaming platform, but the company has been consistently under fire for their questionable bans regarding Terms of Service infractions. In a series of Tweets, Pilav revealed what got him banned from the platform which was met with a lot of people disagreeing with the call. “Reason: Wearing sexually suggestive attire, such as undergarments or intimate apparel,” pilav said. “I was BEGGING Blizzard for weeks now to give me Classic beta invite and finally tonight I got it and my genuine reaction was to jump around out of excitement and shorts slipped down a bit you could literally see half of my underpants and that’s about it no arse at all.” He later said that Twitch gave him a ban with an “indefinite” suspension length. That leaves the fate of his channel in question, as fans don’t know exactly when they can expect to watch Pilav go live again. Suspension Length: Indefinite it’s not perma but it might be still…it sucks even if it’s one day because I’m trying so hard not to JOKE about anything or anyone no more and then I get banned because my shorts slipped down a bit while jumping out of excitment.S E X U A L ATTIRE— Pilav (@Pilavpowa) June 19, 2019 Twitch’s lopsided bans have drawn ire form the community The Twitch community are used to strange and questionable bans from the streaming platform in the past. • WoW Classic streamer’s hearth teleport ends in absolute disaster – Dexerto

WoW Classic streamer’s hearth teleport ends in absolute disaster A World of Warcraft Classic streamer faced a hilarious issue when he teleported back to a friendly town for safety but found himself in the midst of an enemy attack as soon as he arrived. Raiding enemy towns is one of the fun things that keeps World of Warcraft interesting; the anticipation of being attacked, or preparing an attack between you and your teammates, keeps the game interesting and fresh. But you might not know when this is going to happen, and sometimes you’re simply unprepared for what you’re about to face, as one streamer found out in a livestream on November 4. Playing in what appeared to be a very chilled environment and stream, AdvertiseSP decided to use a Hearthstone to teleport back to Kargath thanks to a suggestion from a viewer, with Advertise saying that there “might be more players at Kargath”. This turned out to be a huge understatement, as Advertise came face to face with way more players than he would’ve expected, as an enemy team was attacking the town, causing Advertise to burst out laughing and simply say “maybe hearthing into Kargath wasn’t a great idea.” He quickly teleported back out of Kargath to put himself in a more tranquil environment before finishing up the stream, saying “RIP Kargath, but it is time for bed now.” It’s fair to say that this is the last thing Advertise expected when he revisited Kargath, and may have been just enough to push him over the edge and turn the stream off – when it’s getting late anyway, a huge fight against an enemy team is the last thing you want to be doing. World of Warcraft saw a revival in August 2019 when Blizzard re-released it, and since then it has floated around the top of the Twitch charts thanks to its huge following and playerbase.

  • WoW Classic’s first level 60 player Jokerd finally reveals his face – Dexerto

WoW Classic’s first level 60 player Jokerd finally reveals his face Twitch/JokerdTV/PexelsWoW Classic streamer ‘JokerdTV’ impressed all of Azeroth when he became the first player to hit max level 60, and now fans have a face to attach to the mysterious personality. Blizzard appeased its millions of fans while opening the door for millions of new players when it launched WoW Classic on August 26. The launch gave players the truest World of Warcraft experience to be released since the original debut of the MMO in 2004. While grinding, questing, leveling and the like are gruelling as well as incredibly punishing, Jokerd managed to navigate through the gauntlet to reach level 60 in only three days and seven hours of play. The impressive feat gained instant notoriety among streamers, WoW players and the droves of newly introduced Twitch audiences. But being a no-cam streamer was starting to pique the interest of many fans. On his September 2 stream, Jokerd gave the people what they wanted when he turned on his camera square on his face for everyone to enjoy. “Are you ready chat?” Jokerd said before sitting on his chair with his full face graced the lower right portion of his stream. Previously there were a portion of viewers who were convinced that Jokerd was another streamer hiding behind the guise of a no-cam stream, but were in for a welcomed surprise with the face reveal. Viewers had encouraging messages like “Wtf actually handsome” and “Not a bad looking dude” to the streamer’s reveal. Averaging about 16,000 viewers at the time of this writing, Jokerd’s Twitch Chat were popping off after the face reveal. Considering how much the streamer’s popularity has boomed with WoW Classic, it’s only a matter of time until he ends up becoming a Twitch partner and can start making some money off his content. WoW Classic is currently the most popular game on Twitch with 363K viewers at the time of this posting. The second game, Fortnite, has 130K while League of Legends sits in third with 119K. With more viewers than Fortnite and League combined, one has to wonder when the WoW hype train will begin to die down, if ever. With contributions from Dexerto writer Alan Bernal.

  • WoW Classic: Mitch Jones instantly exposes himself after denying account sharing – Dexerto

WoW Classic: Mitch Jones instantly exposes himself after denying account sharing Blizzard / Mitch Jones TwitchTwitch streamer Mitch Jones revealed how he’s toeing the line with WoW Classic’s rules after giving an awkward admission to account sharing. Blizzard and many other developers have strict rules on account sharing; the practice can see a lot of unfair advantages or unintended results occur in-game. Account sharing can be a bannable offense in some instances, so players would be wise to steer clear of the infraction. As Twitch broadcasters are starting to take their WoW Classic adventures off-stream, fans are noticing discrepancies in their levels from one VOD to the next. This might be the case for Jones and his his 400,00+ followers on Twitch. During his September 6 stream, Jones stepped into the world of Azeroth and mentioned how much he’s been loving WoW Classic. But his attempt to shut down trolls accusing him of account sharing didn’t go so well. “I’ve actually been playing off-stream,” Jones said. “Maybe I had an honorable friend help me out a little bit, but other than that I’ve been doing most of the work myself. Sometimes when I pass out, I’ll watch (my friend) play a little bit. It is what it is.” The popular streamer made sure to note his innocence due to the close proximity he maintains on the occasions when the friend is playing on his account: “But it’s not account sharing because I’m right next to him.” But then he made a hilarious blunder when explaining how it wouldn’t be such a big deal for Blizzard if they should find out. “You think Blizzard is going to come into my house be like ‘You can’t have him play while you’re sleeping,’” Jones said. “And I’ll be like ‘what do you mean, why not? He’s my friend and we share an account.’” He immediately shut down the conversation, and joked saying if he got permabanned he’d just make another account and “pay some Russians to level it.” Moments later, a viewer bringing up IP bans seemed to change Jones’ tune as he instantly retreated to saying he was joking about everything all along. It sounds like Jones is really enjoying his time with WoW Classic, so he might want to be more vigilant and make sure he’s the only one playing on his account.

  • WoW Classic streamer Jokerd mocked for fast food fail – Dexerto

WoW Classic streamer Jokerd mocked for fast food fail Twitch streamer Jokerd alarmed his viewers, and was mocked over what looked like absolute confusion in how to fill his cup at a drink machine. Filling up your fountain drink is a pretty simple action that people apparently take for granted each day as Jokerd looked like he used one for the first time during his stream. While waiting for his order at a fast food restaurant, he took his empty cup over to the machine, but instead of using it normally, he sat the cut down under the spout and did it by hand. This method of filling his glass was quickly met with a ton of confusion as he poured root beer on his hand while figuring out what to do. When chat saw this going on, they quickly began mocking him by spamming question marks and emotes that let everyone know just how confused they were by what was transpiring. Lucky for everyone watching, Jokerd was able to get his cup filled up, even if it was through some strange method. It’s completely possible he was trolling everybody by doing what he did so that’s something to keep in mind if you don’t want to think about how someone could be so clueless on how to fill up a drink. It’s been a long journey for Jokerd and he’s actually exploded in popularity since August. Of course, that’s when World of Warcraft Classic burst onto the scene and he rose to fame by becoming the first player to reach level 60. After being blocked from deleting his character immediately after, he eventually did so and then did a face reveal. Now he’s taking this fame and doing IRL streams so he’s seemed to have done alright adjusting to it all so far. Hopefully, for viewers’ sake, he won’t be having any more blunders like this again.

  • WoW Classic could top Twitch most-watched week for 2019 – Dexerto

WoW Classic could top Twitch most-watched week for 2019 Activision-Blizzard / TwitchWoW Classic has dominated Twitch viewership since its release, and it’s on track to have the most watched week in 2019. The rebirth of Blizzard’s MMORPG has brought old and new players alike out of the woodwork to experience one of the best games of all time as it was on release. However, not many people expected it to be this popular. In its opening week, World of Warcraft Classic has been exposed to long queue times, server crashes, queues at mob spawn locations, and insane viewership numbers. The hype generated has made the release of the game one of the most successful launches of all time. According to a report by The Esports Observer, WoW Classic is on track to take over The International 2019 and post the most watched week during 2019 on Twitch. Read more: WoW Classic breaks 1 million viewers – Dota 2 had 34 million hours watched last week thanks to TI9, which surpassed the record set by Apex Legends in February. Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek hosted a 24-hour marathon on release day, while popular WoW streamer Zack ‘Asmongold’ has put up over 60 hours of content across the week. Read more: Jokerd hits world-first level 60 – New streamers have also emerged through the ranks. ‘Jokerd’ became the first person to hit level 60 in the reboot, and has garnered fame as a result. He put in a 39-hour marathon stream to start the grind, and was recently partnered on Twitch after the effort. His stats have exploded too, going from a handful of viewers per stream to over 14,000, and his follower count rose from 1,000 to over 120,000. However, the hype will eventually die down. Maintaining a stream schedule of 60 hours a week is almost impossible, and WoW Classic’s viewership numbers will inevitably decline as streamers go to different games. As the world firsts keep getting conquered, some fans and players might lose interest in the game too. But, if WoW Classic can bunch through those final couple of million to surpass Dota 2, it’ll be a great sign for the World of Warcraft community, and give those content creators more eyes in the future.

  • “World’s worst McDonald’s” closes after viral brawl with raccoon, over 900 police calls – Dexerto

“World’s worst McDonald’s” closes after viral brawl with raccoon, over 900 police calls YouTubeAn infamous McDonald’s restaurant is finally closing down after receiving well over 1,000 calls to police over criminal activity including a viral brawl where a customer unleashed a pet raccoon. A McDonald’s located in Canada’s capital of Ottawa will be shutting its doors for good after years of criminal complaints and debauchery taking place at the fast food joint. The location, dubbed by many as the “world’s worst,” has seen plenty of wild stories over the years from sexual acts taking place in its washrooms, drug deals and fights between patrons. As CTV News reports, the police were called to the then 24-hour restaurant 800 times in 2018, prompting concerns about “ongoing criminal activity and social disorder.” Despite the store changing its hours, in 2022 the location still had over 150 calls to cops as nefarious behavior continued to plague the area. Customers fight with raccoon in wild McDonald’s melee In 2013, the McDonald’s location went viral after a brawl between multiple customers was recorded on a cell phone. Amid the chaos and haymakers, one of the patrons even pulled a raccoon out of his jacket. What the raccoon was doing getting involved in such a spectacle remains a mystery. The video has been viewed nearly 1M times since first being uploaded on YouTube and remains one of the craziest restaurant brawls not involving a Waffle House. Ex-manager reveals horror stories from McDonald’s A few years later, a former manager for the McDonald’s held an AMA on Reddit where they revealed the most disturbing moments they experienced working at the store. “One night, not dissuaded by the locked doors, this guy and girl went the ‘dirty-divot’ (the nook right in front of the washrooms). Via the security camera, we noticed some unusual behavior,” they said. “At that moment, some random tried to enter the locked bathroom. After no success at opening the door, and completely ignoring the friendly couple, started to poop right on the floor right next to them At no point did either party acknowledge the other. All three finished at about the same time, and went their separate ways.” The madness didn’t stop there. According to the manager, they were even threatened one night for kicking a customer out after he assaulted a woman. “He told me he was going to wait for me to get off work and kill me, and proceeded to wait outside the store for two hours,” the manager revealed, adding that the police couldn’t do anything about it. “The guy came back the next day and apologized, to which I accepted. However, a week later, the same guy came back, assaulted another woman, and now he’s banned for life.” The current McDonald’s location is scheduled for lease in the third quarter of 2023.

  • World’s Most Famous Gamer Ninja Discusses ‘Gaming Disorder’ Being Classed as a Mental Illness – Dexerto

World’s Most Famous Gamer Ninja Discusses ‘Gaming Disorder’ Being Classed as a Mental Illness Ninja, Twitch/ShuttershockAs the most popular Twitch streamer on the platform, regularly attracting over 100,000 concurrent viewers, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is arguably the most high profile gamer in the world. A former professional Halo player, Ninja turned his attention to streaming on Twitch full time recently, and has since become a household name – at least in household’s of gamers. So, when the World Health Organization officially recognized gaming addiction as a ‘disorder’, Ninja had a few things to say about it. Briefly, the WHO says that if, over a 12 month period, an individual plays video games to the extent that it significantly impairs “personal, family, social, educational, occupational or other important areas of functioning”, it is a mental illness. When asked about the news on his Twitch stream by a viewer, Ninja did not hold back on making his feelings clear about it. “So when you watch ten hours, or twenty hours of TV a week, is that a mental illness? Is that a disorder? I guess the world’s a little crazy. If you were to watch two to three hours of news a day, every day for the entire week, that’s more than ten hours. That’s more than ten hours a week – do you have a ‘watching the news mental disorder?’ Oh no, watching the news is all good.” He goes on to say that as long as parents effectively manage how their children spend their time and are achieving in other important areas, there should be no need for the classification of a disorder. “Everything can be addictive, you could be addicted to taking shits. The brain is so complex. Should kids be playing 50, 60 hours of video games every week? I don’t know are they getting straight A’s? If they’re doing well in school, in every aspect of their life – they’re coming for dinner saying Hi, doing their chores, and they come home and play video games all day with their friends after, are you really going to be mad about that? If they are failing, then it’s the parents job to limit what they’re doing, because of course at that point yeh it’s not good. That’s common sense, which 99% of parents don’t have.” The WHO classification seems to be concerned with those gamers who are in fact ‘failing’ in other aspects of life, be it school, work, social life or personal health. However, the escalation of this scenario to a mental disorder has angered many passionate gamers, who feel it stigmatizes individuals whose problem is not in fact video games, but who simply lack the ability to effectively balance their lives and need help with this. The problem, many gamers would argue, is not the video games, as many past times can be addictive or consuming as Ninja alludes to, but instead should be treated as a individual’s personal issue.

  • World Chess CEO reveals the most common ways players cheat in over the board tournaments – Dexerto

World Chess CEO reveals the most common ways players cheat in over the board tournaments HZ Toernooi/Tina RouwendalCheating in Chess has been a hot topic thanks to high-profile accusations from top players. Ilya Merenzon, the CEO of World Chess, explained to Dexerto the most common ways players cheat. Cheating in over-the-board chess is not as pervasive or crafty as some people may think. Following Magnus Carlsen’s accusations against Hans Niemann in 2022, multiple theories cropped up over how the young American could have cheated and not been detected. One of the more popular ones was that Niemann had an object inside his body that would vibrate to tell him what moves to play. In reality, cheating at the highest level of the game is rather simple, and often involves players sneaking a look at a phone. Merenzon, who helped put on the Clash of Blames event which included high-level anti-cheat provisions, laid out common ways players cheat, and how World Chess events keep their tournaments on lock. “Our range of measures includes evaluating radio signals, signaling from the audience, theft and even ensuring smartphones are not brought into the tournament,” Merenzon said. “A device such as a smartphone has more computing power than humans, so getting the phone into a tournament can give a player a huge advantage.” The most recent cheating scandal that rocked the chess world, which had conclusive evidence of cheating, happened at the 2024 Chicago Open. A player was caught using a phone in his lap while at the board to help him make moves. Other instances of proven cheating, like at the 2023 Romanian Championship and the 2019 case of Igors Rausis, involved players going to the bathroom during games to use their phones. While accusations of players gaining an illicit advantage in online chess have been thrown around at a high rate in recent years, examples of in-person cheating are fairly low. Merenzon said that his company has not had any cases of players cheating at World Chess tournaments. However, catching cheaters is not the only goal of anti-cheating measures. “The main goal is to make sure that players FEEL safe to play, because if the player is concerned about it, their play will be different and their focus can be impacted,” Merenzon said.

World of Warcraft and South Park cosplay legend Jarod Nandin passes away Phil HornshawJarod Nandin, who famously cosplayed the villainous high-level World of Warcraft player from one of South Park’s most iconic episodes, ‘Make Love Not Warcraft,’ has sadly passed away. Jarod Nandin was nothing short of a legend in the cosplay community. He made headlines everywhere back in 2013 when he cosplayed the high-level World of Warcraft player from South Park’s ‘Make Love Not Warcraft’ episode at Blizzcon. For those who can’t remember, the character was an obese and bald middle-aged man. He was supposed to represent a stereotypical PC gamer nerd who had no life outside World of Warcraft. Jarod’s cosplay was a surprise, and it was perfect. Jarod revealed his health had rapidly declined back on December 18, 2020. Sadly, it never improved and eventually claimed his life. His passing has left a hole in many people’s hearts, including presenter, podcast host, and video game journalist Michele Morrow. “Today, the Warcraft and greater Blizzard community lost one of its sweetest souls,” she said. “Jarod Nandin, also known as JarodNWBZPWNR, was best known [for] his famous Blizzcon cosplay “That Which Has No Life” from the South Park episode “Make Love Not Warcraft.” “Jarod had a fantastic sense of humor and was an advocate for cosplayers, body acceptance, and positivity,” she added. “I always enjoyed seeing him online and at conventions [throughout] the years. “He loved Overwatch and was a kickass gamer,” she said, which is something not a lot of people realized. “I saw him at Blizzcon nearly every year. He gave the best hugs and always had something positive to share.” “Rest In Peace Jarod, you beautiful soul,” she said. “Blizzcon won’t be the same without you. Thank you for making an impact [on] my life and so many others. We will never forget you.” View this post on Instagram Jarod will always be remembered for his larger-than-life personality, inspiring confidence, dedication to the community, and of course, his iconic cosplay. Nobody has ever managed to bring that character to life as well as he did. It takes a special kind of person to invest their time in bringing joy and happiness to other people’s lives, even if it’s something simple, like putting a smile on their face at Blizzcon. Jarod was one of those people.

Women kicked off flight for refusing to sit in vomit-covered seats YouTube/AirCanada/FreePikAn airline is in hot water after forcing female passengers to sit in vomit-covered seats or get kicked off the flight. Air Canada is on damage control after a Facebook post describing the disturbing conditions of a flight from Las Vegas to Montreal in late August. On August 29, Susan Benson posted a viral rant about Air Canada, explaining how on the prior flight, someone had vomited in the area and the seats were still wet by takeoff time. After airline staff “reluctantly” gave passengers vomit bags and blankets before the pilot came down to speak to the women and issue a warning. Air Canada apologizes for kicking women off flight over vomit-covered seats According to Benson, the pilot knelt next to the two ladies and explained that they had two choices, neither of which exactly pleasant. “They could leave the plane on their own accord and organize flights on their own dime, or they would be escorted off the plane by security and placed on a no fly list!” Benson explained. Eventually, other passengers joined in, with one identifying themselves as a police officer saying how they would never treat others that way. “The pilot got up and walked to the front of the plane. Next thing we know Security comes down the aisle and escorted the two ladies off the plane! For what? Refusing to sit in vomit for five hours! Air Canada literally expects passage to sit in vomit or be escorted off the plane and placed on a no-fly list!” the passenger exclaimed. It wasn’t long before Benson’s thread went viral across social media, resulting in Air Canada responding to the accusations. “Our operating procedures were not followed correctly in this instance,” the airline told CTV. “They clearly did not receive the standard of care to which they were entitled. We remain in contact with them about this matter.” This isn’t the first airline story to blow up recently. Earlier this month, a plane had to make an emergency landing after “biohazard” diarrhea began dribbling down the isles.

Women post terrifying TikTok after men trap them inside parking lot at night TikTok: leavemetfaloneplsssA woman is sparking alarm across TikTok after recording the moment she and a friend got trapped in a parking lot by two men who wouldn’t leave them alone. TikTok is a haven for viral content of all kinds — but some of the videos that take over the app are downright shocking. From a woman who was convinced a passenger on her flight “wasn’t real” to folks actually eating Borax as a challenge, TikTok boasts some pretty jaw-dropping content… but the latest video to go viral on the platform is leaving women everywhere feeling majorly uncomfortable. TikTok user ‘leavemetfalonepsss,’ their supposedly ‘secret account,’ uploaded a video showing herself and a friend parked out by a lake late at night. Women terrified after men block them inside parking lot at night However, they weren’t able to leave the area on account of being blocked inside a parking lot by two men, who had parked their truck behind them. Rather than realizing what they’d done and getting out of the way, the men instead tried to “pick up” the women in the video — leading to a tense conversation where the gals had to explain why they felt unsafe in the situation. “Why are y’all being so weird?” one of them asked. “I’m just trying to say hi. What’s your name?” “Why do you need to know my name?” one of the ladies responded. “What do you have better to do on a Thursday night?” the guy answered back. “Why can’t we all just be friends?” “Like, you literally just blocked us in,” she responded. “So, you have to think about it from our perspective.” The video has racked up nearly two million views in just six days, leaving commenters outraged at the guys’ responses to the womens’ concerns and their continued attempts at “picking them up.” “That’s so terrifying and I’m so glad that you’re okay,” one viewer wrote. “I’m so sorry that happened to you.” “Speechless, how anyone thinks that’s a good way to ‘pick up girls’ is horrifying. I’m glad you’re okay,” another said. Other women shared their own stories of being in similar situations, with one writing: “I have had that happen but this guy pulled up drunk and wouldn’t leave my friends and I alone no matter how many times we told him to just go.” The TikToker is using her experience as a warning to other women — and as a message to guys to let them know why women are often on guard while traveling.

Woman in viral “not real” plane video finally breaks silence: “It’s frightening” TikTokTiffany Gomas, the woman from the “not real” video onboard a flight, has finally broken her silence on the incredibly viral clip as she has urged people to “not judge” her. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, or have been completely off the grid internet-wise, you’ve more than likely come across the now-infamous video of a woman storming off a plane and complaining about a “not real” passenger. The short clip was posted by TikToker knuckelslawncare back in July, showing the woman – Tiffany Gomas – freaking out about another passenger. She urged fellow passengers to get off the plane, which was destined for Orlando from Dallas Forth Worth, but was deplaned herself. The identity of the “not real” passenger has remained a bit of a mystery and while Gomas had been identified, she had yet to speak on the video. That is until now. Viral “not real” flight woman speaks out on “frightening” change to life Gomas, who is a Dallas native, spoke to the Daily Mail from her home, saying that her life has “blown up” since the video went super viral. “My life has been blown up. It’s frightening. Things go viral and everything changes,” she said. “No one knows anyone else’s story, and no one should judge. No one knows what it’s like.” The marketing entrepreneur added that people have been “staking out” her home, as well as her neighbors, and they’ve been “going through” her mail too. Gomas also added that many of the things around the video are “inaccurate” but, according to the Mail, didn’t expand on that when quizzed as to specifics. As noted, Gomas has become a viral star since the clip first hit the internet, with a few parodies already being made of the incident. The latest to capture the internet’s attention was a painting of her, mid-freak out, surrounded by mythical creatures – which has racked up well over 17 million views on TikTok alone.

Women goes viral after joke about marrying her stepdad gets out of hand TikTok: ChristyWho_A woman has gone viral on TikTok after claiming that she married her own stepdad, but it appears to be a big joke that the internet isn’t quite in on. Even though it started life as a platform that was geared towards creatives and artists, TikTok has become home to pretty much every corner of the internet at this point. As such, we’ve seen plenty of stories about people’s relationships go viral at this point. No one will forget the Couch Guy incident in a hurry, and there are TikTokers being used by their friends to investigate if their partner is cheating on them. However, christywho_’s posts have caught the eye of millions of users after her post indicated that she’s married her stepfather. Though, that doesn’t appear to be the case, and TikTokers are quite sure what to believe. TikToker baffles viewers after joking about marrying her stepdad The TikToker revealed the story on February 28, when she uploaded a clip of her and her partner getting married in Las Vegas. “Marrying my step dad was the best decision I’ve ever made,” Christy posted on-screen as the pair embraced, while also using the hashtag #MarryYourMomsEx to really hammer things home. However, while the clip has racked up around 20 million views and left countless TikTok users baffled, it appears to be a joke. Christy followed up with another post, claiming that the man in question was actually her brother’s best friend, and the pair had grown really close after her brother passed away. Even that post left some users confused as she, once again, used the #MarryYourMomsEx hashtag. Christy said that she didn’t expect the post to “blow up as much as it did” and has reiterated that the guy in question isn’t actually her stepdad. Though, the TikTok comments are still rather confused by the whole thing.

  • Woman has internet gagging with gross meals she cooks husband – Dexerto

Woman has internet gagging with gross meals she cooks husband TikTok: @imaybediabeticA woman shared some of the unusual meals she cooks her husband, leaving the whole internet disgusted. The video on TikTok which has since gone viral, accumulating over 1 million views, is from a woman named Emily, showcasing some of the meals she cooks for her husband. In the series of clips within the video, she displays some… unusual food combinations. She begins by introducing the meals she loved to make for “Her Man.” The dishes appear to get progressively stranger as the video goes on, starting with a fish sandwich with mushrooms. In the next clip, we see a regular hot dog in a bun, but paired with what seems to be boxed mac and cheese. She then shows another meal consisting of pizza, potatoes, and Cheetos, paired with an IPA. Another displays some kind of fried, breaded item with cranberry balls, and another shows Dino Nugget bolognese pasta with parmesan cheese. In other clips, we see a waffle sandwich with wet beans inside, and a ‘curry’, which consists of boiled chicken, along with applesauce and some cottage cheese. The food dishes get progressively weirder and weirder, culminating with Egusi soup, which seems to have a fish head packed inside. TikTok grossed out by woman’s meals The woman’s unusual dishes saw the internet collectively gagging over the meals she prepared for her husband. One of the top comments reads, “We need to rescue James,” about her partner who presumably eats these meals. Another stated, “I would love to meet James.” One said, “I am traumatized, the Egusi soup took me out.” Another concurred, “I don’t even want the green card anymore, just take me out, bro.” Another claimed that after watching the video, their “Stomach was bubbling,” while another said a prayer in the comments section. Interestingly, in one of the clips displaying an open face, sloppy ramen tortilla, Emily claims that she had some help. This has led users to believe that James is complicit in the situation. One said, “James is an accomplice, did y’all see what he helped make.” It’s unknown whether or not Emily is pranking the internet with her unusual combinations, as they almost seem too bizarre to be true.

Rent prices are getting out of control in many big cities and Toronto is no exception. The largest Canadian city has nearly 3 million people and some are pulling out bizarre tactics to make afford rent. In a TikTok video going viral on the platform, realtor Anya Ettinger revealed a woman’s Facebook marketplace listing and it featured some bold terms for would-be renters. The woman’s shared bedroom listing requires the tenant to sleep in the same queen bed as her and this absolutely enraged Ettinger let the world know how “unhinged” she felt this was. Realtor exposes shared bed listing requiring people to sleep with stranger The rental listing, which includes amenities and utilities, states that the roommate was looking for an “easygoing female to share the master bedroom and the one queen-sized bed.” The renter explained that she had previously been sharing the bed with someone else who she had found on Facebook and it had worked out. “Just when you thought the Toronto rental market couldn’t get any worse, it did,” Ettinger groaned. “$900 a month to share, not even a king where you could comfortably put a pillow barrier, a queen-sized bed with someone who is not your partner!” Ettinger proceeded to brainstorm how the arrangement would even work and why the landlord didn’t decide to invest in two twin beds instead over the shared queen. “This is so unhinged! Renting out a space in your bed for $900 a month?” she gasped, but admitting in the video description that someone would be desperate enough to actually do this. Users in the comments were equally shocked, wondering if this was even legal while others just hoped the listing was a joke. Despite the craziness of this story, it’s hardly the first rental situation to recently go viral. Earlier this week, a TikToker was moved to tears as her landlord revealed plans to sell her home to an Airbnb host on short notice.

Woman’s “nightmare” Victoria’s Secret model roommate disgusts TikTok viewers Unsplash.com: Duane MendesA TikToker is going viral after revealing the ‘nightmarish’ conditions she lived in thanks to her roommate, a supposed Victoria’s Secret model. Roommates can be great or terrible. It really is the luck of the draw when it comes to who you’ll be splitting rent with sometimes. However, one woman’s experience living with a high-profile model was less glamorous than most might believe, leaving millions of viewers shocked at her behavior. TikTok user Taylor is going viral after detailing the stinky horrors she witnessed being the roommate of a Victoria’s Secret model who, despite her big contracts and fame, wasn’t the polished image she represented in magazines. TikToker goes viral for “nightmare” Victoria’s Secret model roommate Taylor claimed that she, along with some other women, lived with the model in New York City. However, Taylor said that the “vibes were off” as soon as the model moved in, saying that she “loved to one-up people” constantly. That’s not all; Taylor also called the model a “pathological” liar who fibbed about who she was, where she came from and even mutual friends. Taylor recounted a time where the model came back from a Fashion Week party wearing her shirt, saying that she’d gotten it on the set of a campaign. However, the model’s thievery was nothing compared to the disaster that was found in her bedroom. Taylor said that she’d had enough, and decided to “go through all of her stuff.” “I was horrified to find that she stole things from every single person in the apartment,” she explained. “Weird things, like pens and cups. Tons of prescription medicine that she would not have been able to use.” All that paled in comparison to the suitcase they found stuffed with used tampons, tissues, and even toilet paper with feces on it — a suitcase where the model kept her clothes. Although she hasn’t yet name-dropped the model in question, she did admit that the woman had “major contracts and major meetings” with the likes of Naomi Campbell and Steven Mizel. This has left commenters speculating about who the unnamed model could possibly be, with quite a few viewers thinking that she could be Taylor Hill, or even Cara Delevigne or Devon Windsor. For now, it doesn’t look like Taylor is willing to reveal the model’s identity, leaving viewers frustrated and accusing her of telling the tale for “clout” — which she certainly received, having racked up over five million views in just a single day.

In a since-deleted TikTok video, the customer was caught going on a nearly five-minute racist tirade against a Hispanic manager at the Hatboro pizzeria. “What’s wrong with that is you’re not American dude. I will look you the f**k up and get you the f**k out of our town. F**k you,” she said, flipping him off. “Give me my money back. I’m not giving my money to some illegal immigrant.” The manager then questioned how she knew that he’s an illegal immigrant, “You got Spanish on your TV. That’s a ‘f**k you’ to Americans dude,” she said, giving him the finger again. “My father was a World War Two veteran, okay? His friends and family died so you could sit here right now and make money. And you’re going to do this kind of sh*t?” After the woman learned she was being filmed by an employee behind the counter, she called them out. The camera person explained they were recording her because she “is a racist.” “You’re a victim. I’m an American,” the woman fired back, before taking out her phone and filming the workers. “They’re filming me because I am white,” the customer claimed. In a recent statement, Hatboro police said that they responded to the restaurant on February 23, where they “de-escalated the dispute with the customer.” Police said they were reviewing a video of the incident and are investigating further. Thus far, no charges have been filed. “This lady walked into our pizza shop (owned by Hispanics) and heard Spanish coming from our TV and started discriminating [against] us. Not all Spanish speakers are Mexican and it was bold of her to assume so,” Amy’s Family Pizzeria wrote in a caption on the viral video. “Discrimination should NOT happen to anyone, no matter who they are nor what their background is. America is a country built by immigrants. I’m so sorry if you have ever experienced something like this,” the pizzeria said. • Woman’s insane 15-year revenge on man who spat on her friend goes viral – Dexerto

Woman’s insane 15-year revenge on man who spat on her friend goes viral TikTok: lindasolleyhurdA woman on TikTok has shared her “genuinely unhinged” story about how she sought revenge on a man for 15 years after he spat on her friend. It is likely you have heard of the phrase “revenge is a dish best-served cold.” It dates back to 1782, translated from Pierre Choderlos de Laclos’s epistolary novel, Les Liaisons Dangereuses. The notion that states vengeance is most satisfying when exacted some time after the initial situation has cooled down. However, it seems one woman took the proverbial phrase to heart. Going by ‘lindasolleyhurd’ online, Linda shared on TikTok her “genuinely unhinged” 15-year revenge on a man who once spat on and insulted her friend at a bar. “15 years ago, when I was in college I went to a comedy show with a couple of friends,” Linda began. While at the show her friend accidentally knocked over a man’s drink, resulting in a heated situation. “He stands up and calls her a ‘stupid, fat b****’… and then he spits on her,” Linda said. When she came to defend her friend, Linda too was met only with insults. So, she decided to enact revenge. Finding the man of Facebook, Linda learned what his favorite TV shows were and proceeded to make fake accounts in order to spoil each upcoming episode. She said, “He would make these rage-filled Facebook statuses and Tweets like, ‘Who is sending me this?’” This continued on and off for years before Linda decided she was over her grudge, but destiny would see the two cross paths again. Years later and with the man now engaged, Linda stumbled across his Reddit account. “I see some pretty sinister stuff on his Reddit,” Linda said, explaining she then anonymously informed his fiance of what had been posted online. The wedding was called off, resulting in a revenge plan that unexpectedly spanned 15 years. Viewers, however, were torn over the ethics of Linda’s actions, with one person writing, “So much energy wasted on harming someone. I have to wonder who would want to be with a person vindictive enough to do all of this ruin another person.” Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

In a viral clip with 2.2 million views, Ph.D. student Ellie Hurer (myphdexperience) recorded herself giving a video presentation to 30,000 people. Ellie was speaking on camera during the 2021 European Inventor Award ceremony when her dog was heard loudly and violently throwing up in the background. The TikToker continued talking through her dog’s noisy puking during the important call, but it was clear that she was trying to hide her embarrassment. In text over the video, she explained what was going through her head in the moment, writing, “My mind went blank,” “The noises,” “f**k f**k f**k” and “HELP ME.” “I can’t even watch it anymore because I cringe so much,” she admitted in the caption of the post. TikTok users in the comments were left in hysterics over the mortifying incident. “Sounds like an exorcism,” one person wrote. “It gets funnier and funnier every time I see it,” another added. “I’ve watched this 10 times I almost woke up my kid because I had to laugh so hard,” a third shared. Others revealed what they would’ve done if they were in the same situation. “I would have muted and mouthed ‘I can’t hear you,’” one commented. “Idk how you kept a straight face! I would have either laughed or cried lol,” another wrote. “I probably would have just been really honest and apologized for the dog throwing up,” someone else said. In a follow-up clip, the University of Hertfordshire student explained why she didn’t address her dog’s illness during the video call. Ellie said she wasn’t sure her colleagues could even hear the puking due to the lousy microphone on her laptop. However, she admitted, “It’s obviously good enough because everyone f**king heard him.”

  • Woman’s husband called “cheap” after refusing to pay $700 dinner bill – Dexerto

Woman’s husband called “cheap” after refusing to pay $700 dinner bill TikTok: djdotjerryA woman’s husband was assumed to pay the $700 tab for a group of female friends because he was the only man at the table. Ernestine Morrison and her husband invited their group of female friends out to dinner to celebrate one of their birthdays. However, when it was time to pay the $700 bill, the women felt that Morrison’s husband should be the one to pay, as he was the only man at the table. Though Morrison stuck up for her husband in disagreement with their friends, was he still left with the hefty tab? Husband says he’s “not obligated” to pay for anyone but his family and the birthday girl When Morrison’s husband was given the full dinner check, he asked the server to split it. Though he agreed to cover himself, his wife, and the birthday girl, paying for the whole table was not on his radar. The women in the group quickly reacted to him asking for individual checks, asking, “I’m sorry, you’re the only man at this table. Why are we doing separate checks?” Morrison’s husband then responded, “I’m not responsible for paying for everybody.” As both sides of the controversy were taken aback, Morrison expressed, “I don’t care about how y’all do it — I’m not obligated, I got my whole family.” The women then called Morrison’s husband “cheap” as they stood up, saying they weren’t paying for anything. However, despite the women’s disapproval, they eventually chipped in towards the $700 bill. Viewers of the viral TikTok story debated the topic, with many people weighing heavily on Morrison and her husband’s side, saying that the women were “full of audacity.” Some viewers even said that those are the type of “friends you don’t need.” While others complimented Morrison for having her husband’s back. Woman’s husband accidentally ‘ruins’ the moment their children meet for the first time A woman’s husband hilariously ruined the moment their daughter met their newborn sibling in a viral TikTok video. Nothing is greater than the moment a mother meets her newborn after giving birth. However, for one mom, her daughter’s reaction to meeting her new sibling was one she wanted to keep for the record books. But when her husband accidentally ruined the moment the two met, the woman was unable to capture one of the most important ‘firsts’ of their children’s lives. TikTokers troll dad for ruining a very special moment between their children After Alyssa had just given birth to her newborn, she wanted to reminisce on her toddler’s reaction to meeting her new sibling. As her daughter and husband walked into her hospital room, Alyssa was holding her baby who was only moments old. Though Alyssa anticipated looking back on the recorded video to see her daughter gleaming with joy, all she was able to see was the large plastic cup that her husband placed right in front of the camera. Sure, Alyssa’s daughter could be heard excitedly saying, “Baby! That’s my baby sister!” However, the intention was to get the whole reaction on camera, as Alyssa even added a text overlay to her TikTok video, saying, “POV: You’ve waited your whole pregnancy to record your daughter’s reaction to meeting her new sibling.” Those who viewed Alyssa’s hilarious video took to her comments to troll her husband, saying, “I’m not sure how, but THIS is boy math.” As well as, “I just got so mad at your husband!” One person even wrote how relatable the situation was, saying, “Omfg, this is exactly what marriage is. When someone asks what it’s like to be married, show them this video. That’s it.” Another viewer jokingly penned that they would bring the incident up in every argument with her husband, as it’s an easy way for her to win while bickering. Though Alyssa received plenty of comments, she didn’t reply to any with an update on how her two children were able to bond after the accidentally ruined moment. However, she was given nothing but support for the special encounter between her daughter and newborn.

Woman’s Hinge date leaves warning for future guys with secret lipstick message TikTok: @lunarayy_A woman was shocked to find a secret message left by her Hinge date, written with her lipstick in the bathroom. Hinge boasts an impressive Apple App Store rating of 4.5/5 stars on average after 125k reviews, making it one of the dating app giants alongside Tinder and Bumble. The dating app gained popularity for its unique blend of the classic swiping dating app with the fresh and unique introduction of “prompts,” allowing people looking for relationships to know their date’s key interests before meeting them. Despite seemingly knowing the type of person her Hinge date was through his prompts, this woman never expected him to leave a secret, shocking message. Man warns future Hinge suitors, “Run” @Lunarayy_ sent TikTok viewers wild as she shared a video of the surprise that her Hinge date left her. Luna cleaned the underside of the toilet seat in the video, as whoever is holding the camera laughed historically, which has the words “Run” plastered on it with lipstick. Luna could not believe what she saw on the toilet seat, as she exclaimed: “Writes, in lipstick, on my toilet, he said – Run.” Not only that, but she shocked TikTok viewers further when she revealed that he had also written: “She is effing her ex,” which she believed was inspired by the fact that she told him she hadn’t gotten over from her ex as an excuse to end the date after only 15 minutes. TikTok fans couldn’t believe what they were seeing either, some even complimenting the man’s initiative to make sure to write on the underside of the toilet seat: “This is so funny though 😭 the way he figured you wouldn’t lift the seat and left it for the next guy.” Others followed the “there are always two sides to every story mentality” and wanted to hear her date’s experience and thought process that would inspire such a message: “idk I wanna hear his side.” Dating apps seem to be a breeding ground for crazy and unexpected stories, as a Tinder user went viral for getting matching tattoos with her Tinder date.

  • Woman’s horrible McDonald’s drive-thru etiquette goes viral on TikTok – Dexerto

Woman’s horrible McDonald’s drive-thru etiquette goes viral on TikTok TikTok/karen_in_wild/PixabayA clip of a woman blocking a McDonald’s drive-thru so her husband could cut off cars in front of him has gone viral on TikTok. Anyone who has ever craved fast food probably knows how a drive-thru works. Just like being in line inside a restaurant, customers are expected to take turns placing their orders and not cut in front of those ahead of them. It’s a pretty simple concept, but it seems like not everyone feels like they need to adhere to these unwritten rules of the drive-thru, as shown in a viral video. Let this serve as a lesson as how not to behave when taking your truck out to get fast food, because other customers will not be lovin’ it. Couple infuriates McDonald’s drive-thru lane The TikTok uploaded by an account documenting “Karens” in the wild, shows how a woman got out of her truck and blocked the drive-thru preventing other cars from pulling ahead. According to the uploader, she did this in order for her husband to cut everyone off and she could get her McDonald’s order first. “There is a line for a f**king reason!” the user swore as the clip ends. (click here if TikTok fails to load) Since being posted, the clip has been viewed over 1.3 million times. Viewers of the viral clip were as enraged as the uploader with some explaining how they would have dealt with the situation if they were in line. Read More: What is TikTok’s viral shower jeans hack? – “Person behind them should’ve honked the whole time they tried ordering,” one suggested. “I would have called that exact McDonald’s location and notified them about the situation,” another said. It’s not clear what the emergency was or why the woman couldn’t get into the back of the line, but if the comments are any indication, don’t expect this behavior to be tolerated. On the other end of the spectrum, however, not all drive-thru shenanigans are negative, as back in April, a McDonald’s drive-thru worker set TikTok on fire with his insanely polite service.

  • Woman’s Halloween costume led to awkward Uber ride: “The silence was so loud” – Dexerto

Woman’s Halloween costume led to awkward Uber ride: “The silence was so loud” TikTok: wilsonolivia69A woman’s spooky Halloween costume led her to an awkward Uber ride when her driver stayed silent for most of the ride. Halloween is grounds for ‘anything goes’ when it comes to costumes. Whether scary, seductive, or satirical — fanatics of the spooky day tend to go all out in their best costume ideas. But when one woman had to take an Uber while dressed in her rather freakish costume, she had to prepare for the reaction of the driver. She eventually posted his response to her TikTok where he was silent for most of the ride. Woman wearing Halloween costume makes eye contact with Uber driver during awkward drive Olivia Wilson was headed to a Halloween function when she had to wear her creepy costume during her Uber drive on the way. Dressed as Sloth from The Goonies, her misplaced eyes, facial reconstruction, and outfit were spot on for the portrayal of the gentle giant. Before getting into her Uber, Wilson began filming her viral TikTok video where she said, “Imagine getting into your Uber looking like this.” She then recorded herself walking outside to meet the driver, but the driver had passed her house multiple times before noticing that she was indeed waiting for him. Wilson even texted the driver ahead of time saying, “Hello, I’m in a Halloween costume. Is that okay? Lol.” When it was finally time for the big reveal to her driver, he didn’t disappoint, as he spent most of the ride being silent until the very end when the silence broke and he started to laugh. Wilson can then be heard saying, “I’m sure you’ve actually seen worse things, maybe not.” She even mentioned that during the drive, the two of them were making eye contact in the rearview mirror. Those who have seen her viral video commented on its hilarity, jokingly saying, “Kept making eye contact? Using which eye?” As well as, “Eye contact through the rearview mirror is sending me so hard into space, lmao.” While another referred to a classic horror film, saying, “I would have dropped you off at the last house on the left.” Someone even mentioned that Wilson was the “friend” they “need” because she was so funny. And though the drive was awkward enough, Wilson ended her TikTok video with pictures of her at the Halloween function just standing in the background of two people posing as the mom and brother of Sloth. Can you say freaky?!

  • Woman’s “haunted” home decor is causing problems for her landlord – Dexerto

Woman’s “haunted” home decor is causing problems for her landlord Instagram: mybloodygalentineA woman on TikTok says that her unusual home decor is preventing her landlord from finding new tenants as she prepares to move out. When it comes to home design, the world is your oyster. If you’ve ever watched an episode of HGTV’s ‘Design to Sell,’ you’ll know that sprucing up a living space is a great way for buyers to see value and imagine themselves living there. However, one woman’s unique interior design is actually having the opposite effect and is actively preventing her current landlord from finding new tenants. Forget the ‘Live, Laugh, Love’ signs and welcome mats; TikTok user, paranormal investigator, and ‘oddity’ enthusiast Beckie-Ann Galentine is all about spooky stuff. It’s Halloween 24/7 at her place, and that includes everything from jack-o-lanterns to actual coffins. Woman’s “haunted” decorations prevent landlord from finding renter In a viral video posted to TikTok on May 31, Beckie-Ann revealed that her choice of home decor is making it difficult for her landlord to successfully show the place to prospective tenants. That’s probably because her home includes a coffee table made out of an actual “used” coffin, doors to the Danvers State psychiatric hospital, and keeps toe tags in “every drawer in the house,” which are used for tagging corpses. That’s not all; she’s also got a gravestone in her home for one Reverend John White, who passed in 1872, alongside a “stack of antique ouija boards,” some of which are over a hundred years old. It’s clear that Beckie-Ann loves her spooky things, and they definitely make her home unique. But according to the TikToker, her haunted house is causing problems for her landlord as the creepy vibes are simply putting some tenants off. However, some commenters were totally here for Beckie’s eclectic style. “This is actually hilarious,” one user wrote, to which Beckie replied, “The lady [touring the home] didn’t think so.” “[You’re the] neighbor I wish I had,” another said. “Haha, I don’t think my neighbors felt the same seeing me smuggle in a coffin on lmfao,” the TikToker replied. Beckie’s video has racked up over 1 million views since being posted just three days ago as more and more users pour in to gawk at her unique collection of spooky goods — although we’re not sure anything beats the 66-year-old Triceratops skull gracing Logan Paul’s living room. (Although it’s definitely way less spooky.)

  • Woman’s car gets stolen while delivering wedding cake but she still arrives on time – Dexerto

Woman’s car gets stolen while delivering wedding cake but she still arrives on time TikTok: anitanguyen12A wedding cake designer on TikTok has gone viral after revealing her car was stolen right after she loaded up a customer’s cake. Luckily, she still made it to the wedding with a cake on time. One of the hardest parts of being a wedding cake designer by far is having to get the finished product to the future newlyweds on their special day. In southern areas like Texas, however, this may mean that the baker has to leave their car running when stepping away from their vehicle — even for just a second. Unfortunately for Anita Nguyen, leaving her car running led to a couple of teenagers stealing her car right after she placed a customer’s cake inside. Womans car gets stolen with wedding cake inside Uploaded on May 22, 2023, Anita’s video has been viewed nearly three million times and has received nearly 10,000 comments. “Come with me to not only get my car stolen, but also the wedding cake I had just made,” she explained. “Unless y’all have delivered wedding cake in the Texas heat, do not come at me for needing to keep my car on.” “I go inside for one minute to grab my water and my lunch, and these two little sh*theads see my car running. At this point, I’m walking out the door and I do see the boys hopping in my car.” Anita’s friend is a police officer, who kept her updated on the search for her car. “They found the car about three hours later,” she explained. The baker went on to reveal that the cake had been smashed but brought it back to the bakery and got it all fixed up within 30 minutes. “They did have a backup plan but I was determined to get there. I hauled ass and got there at six o’ clock right as the ceremony started,” she added. Viewers quickly took to the comments to share their thoughts on Anita’s situation, with many just giving her kudos for making it to the ceremony on time despite the situation. Anita’s story is just the latest wedding-related viral video. Back in April, a bride went viral after having just one too many drinks during the reception.

  • OnlyFans model “traumatized” after being forced to abandon cat in Taiwan – Dexerto

OnlyFans model “traumatized” after being forced to abandon cat in Taiwan TikTok: ninadoesthemostTikToker and OnlyFans model ‘Ninadoesthemost’ was “traumatized” after being forced to abandon her pet cat in Taiwan when she attempted to bring her furry friend with her to Bali. Traveling with pets can be a seriously stressful experience — both for the owner and the animal. Airlines can have strict restrictions as to what kinds and sizes of animals are allowed in a plane’s cabin, sometimes forcing them to fly in the cargo hold. Animals can also become acutely anxious on flights, leading to possible health issues. However, one woman’s flight to Bali with her pet cat turned into a veritable nightmare after she was forced to leave the feline behind. OnlyFans model forced to abandon cat on trip due to airline “human error” TikToker and OF model ‘Ninadoesthemost’ documented the stressful moment she was forced to leave her cat behind in Taiwan during a trip to Bali. A clip taken from the interaction showed an airline employee telling Nina that had to fly back to the United States “today” — without her cat. “Can I be with my cat?” she asked, clearly in distress. “No? She can’t be locked up for hours. …does anybody care that she’s an animal that hasn’t eaten?” According to Nina, she had “made sure” her cat had all its “proper paperwork” from veterinarians, who had given her “travel certifications” specifically for Indonesia. However, in spite of all these precautions, Nina was told that she couldn’t bring her cat into the country — despite paying $1,300 for her vets to look up travel requirements and sign off on everything. “You let me pay almost $1,300 in travel expenses and certifications knowing — or maybe you didn’t know, clearly — that the cat couldn’t come,” she said in her video. Nina claimed that she was denied boarding her flight with China Airlines as she purportedly hadn’t paid for her pet. After making the payments and getting to an airport in Taiwan, Nina was told she had to book it back home on her own dime due to “human error.” Nina’s kitty cat was left in its carrier for 38 hours with no food, water, or place to relieve itself. Luckily, Nina was eventually reunited with her cat, who appears to be healthy despite urinating and throwing up on herself in her cage. Nina claimed that she was met by a gate agent when she landed back stateside who knew about the situation. The TikToker also claimed this is “just the beginning” of her feud with China Airlines, and said in an update video that she “not to share the details of what was told to me for legal reasons.” Nina’s videos documenting the ordeal have racked up millions of views, with commenters offering their sympathies in the wake of such a trying time. This is just the latest pet-related fiasco to go viral on TikTok after cat-lovers united with the adorable ‘P for Papas’ trend that took off on the platform.

  • Woman’s “awkward” encounter with man who left wife for first-class upgrade goes viral – Dexerto

Woman’s “awkward” encounter with man who left wife for first-class upgrade goes viral TikTok: jordanwynnA woman is taking TikTok by storm after regaling viewers with the tale of how she got seated next to a father of two on a plane — who’d left his wife and kids behind in economy for a first-class upgrade. TikTok is a haven for folks to come and share the stories of wild events that happen in their lives, and this latest storytime video is dropping jaws all across the platform. TikTok user Jordynn Wynn was sitting in first-class on a plane when her neighbor, a married man, began a conversation with her, explaining that drinks in their seating section were unlimited. The two got to talking, and were having a conversation about the man’s job when his wife came up with their two young children in tow. Wife furious after husband leaves her & 2 kids behind for first-class upgrade According to Wynn, the kids were around two and five years old, respectively — and their mom looked “pissed.” Apparently, the dad had left his wife and two young children behind in economy after being upgraded to first class, and was supposedly using the opportunity to get some work done on his laptop… but the wife noticed him chatting up Wynn next to him instead of putting his head down on a project he was apparently behind on. “If you’re not going to work, then the least you can do is watch one of the babies,” the wife said. The couple then got into a “heated, awkward” argument while Wynn attempted to entertain the five-year-old. “He says something like, ‘Oh yeah, she was just asking me about my job,’ and she’s like, ‘Yeah, we’ve been watching you with your head turned over here for the last 20 minutes,’” Wynn recalled. In the end, the mom ended up leaving her husband with their youngest kid — who he tried to keep occupied with anything he had on hand for the rest of the flight. Commenters were extremely sympathetic toward the mom, but some took issue with the TikToker for calling her “grumpy” during the conversation. “If my husband took the upgrade and left me in economy with two kids, he wouldn’t make it out alive,” one user wrote. “Sounds harsh to describe the wife as grumpy, like she chose to be difficult,” another said. “It is difficult to handle two young kids in tow, alone.” “My husband left me with our daughter when he was upgraded to first-class on a six-hour flight,” another mom said. “Whenever I think about it, I buy myself something nice.” This is far from the first flight-related drama to take over TikTok lately; in fact, a video went viral after catching a rowdy passenger being escorted off the plane for spitting on other fliers.

As the woman arrived at the store, she grabbed a cart and began shopping. First, she picked out instant mashed potatoes and mentioned that Dollar Tree was out of a lot of the “Thanksgiving essentials.” She then shopped for green bean casserole items, Kraft macaroni and cheese, and the main course — the meat. Though she could have used canned chunked chicken with gravy, the woman chose frozen ham slices. She then soaked the ham in water to get rid of excess salt, cooked it in butter, and finished it with turkey gravy. The woman also made a no-bake chocolate cheesecake by using cream cheese, instant chocolate pudding, and a graham cracker pie crust. Though she could not make stuffing with her $20 budget, the self-proclaimed deal finder gave a chef’s kiss at the end of her meal, saying that the meal was so good she might try to make another one without a spending cap. Viewers of her viral Thanksgiving meal from Dollar Tree were beside themselves with how good the final dish looked, saying, “With such limited options, you did fantastic!” And, “These videos are amazing! • Woman with $12,000 library fines goes viral on TikTok after hoarding books for years – Dexerto

Woman with $12,000 library fines goes viral on TikTok after hoarding books for years TikTok: historyhanA woman has been left with fines of nearly $12,000 in library fines after checking out books from the library for her dissertation years in advance and then hoarding them at home. A lot of people know the stress of finding the right books and sources when doing any kind of research. Finding the right books is just part of the stress as you have to compete with others to get to borrow it from the library, leaving many to constantly renew books to not have to give them back. One TikTok user named historyhan, a PhD student in Medieval History, was left mortified when she got an email from her library claiming that she owed $11,900 after losing 119 books. However, Hannah hadn’t actually lost the books, she was hoarding them in her home until she’d finished her dissertation. How did woman accrue over $10k in library fines? Hannah shared a screenshot of the message in the beginning of the video before she showed off the piles upon piles of tomes that have built up around her home. “As it stands, your library account has $11,900 owed for 119 lost books,” the email read. “It becomes “lost” in our system after 30 days overdue. Lost books incur a flat rate of $100.” The email continued to say that it was “the patron’s responsibility to renew the books” if they need to take them out longer and that the library ‘sends weekly reminders’ when they’re overdue. “According to our system, you received overdue notices on the following dates prompting you to renew your library books before they are declared lost,” the email continued. Hannah then cut the video to piles of books all over her home as she wrote: “The books aren’t lost, I’m just hoarding them until I finish my dissertation.” She went on to caption the video: “The librarian who sent this email must have felt so powerful #gradstudentlife” Viewers are calling her a book thief In the comment section, the student admitted that she’s had the books for “years” but insisted she was still planning to return them. One person commented: “You mean to tell me that I cannot steal books they intended me to borrow? Unbelievable.” Hannah replied to the comment: “They’re not stolen, they’re still in use.” She continued to tell another viewer that she’d “learned her lesson” after she was told hoarding books like this is considered stealing. Another person commented: “Umm yeah that’s way too long to keep that many books.” A fourth person wrote: “I work in circulation and this hurt my soul.” However, everything seems to have worked out well in the end, as Hannah told people in the comments: “They let me renew them for a reasonable $20 fee, thank goodness!!!”

  • Woman who refuses to move in airport queue sparks heated debate – Dexerto

Woman who refuses to move in airport queue sparks heated debate One old post resurfaced and has sparked outrage and frustration across the internet again, showing a woman who refused to budge in an airport queue until she was at the front of the line. Airports have been a source of frustration for many, whether it’s having to organize the rest of the family’s luggage and tickets, or being dragged out of bed early to arrive hours before the flight even takes off. Airports featured so much chaos that there have even been hit TV shows highlighting people’s nightmare experiences, like the hit British Reality TV series “Luton Airport.” For some people, tired and stressed from the whole ordeal of flying and waiting, even the smallest inconveniences can cause outrage – like one woman who refused to move up in the queue until she was at the front. People outraged at woman’s refusal to move at airport One person had made their own mind up about how queues work, going against the sentiment of the masses, and not moving up as the queue progressed: “It’s the same if I move now or later.” The post went viral, with over 90k likes, kicking off a debate over the ethics of queueing in the comments section. People joked that the only people who were frustrated at this queuing strategy were the British who are notorious for upholding the most staunch queuing beliefs: “This post is making so many British people so angry.” In a comical response, one person replied: “They say us British people like to join queues. We don’t and I will be first in line to tell you that.” However, some were genuinely irked by the post, finding that a moving queue at least made them feel a little bit better about waiting: “I want the fucking illusion of progress!!” Plus, some people feel like they have seen worse behavior by people at airports, like a drunk woman who raged and got a whole flight delayed.

  • Woman warns TikTok after Facebook Marketplace seller tried “luring” her into basement – Dexerto

Woman warns TikTok after Facebook Marketplace seller tried “luring” her into basement TikTok/coffeetillvodka/PixabayA woman is going viral for exposing the potentially dangerous situation she was in picking up a jacket from a seller on Facebook Marketplace. Buying items on Facebook has become a more modern version of the garage sale, letting people purchase things after coming to an agreement through chat, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t risks involved. Like with meeting anyone over the internet, you never know what you could be getting yourself into when you agree to go to a stranger’s house and one woman is sharing her own experience after a scary situation. In a TikTok clip, Ali, otherwise known as ‘coffeetillvodka,’ revealed that buying a jacket for her daughter on Facebook almost took a dark turn when the man selling the item tried to “lure” her into his basement. TikToker calls police after scary incident with Facebook Marketplace seller According to ‘coffeetillvodka,’ she had arranged to meet at a man’s house to buy a jacket and when she showed up, all the lights in the home were off. Eventually, a man came out and seemed confused as to why the woman was even at his house, even when she said she was there for the jacket. “It was already a little weird that he didn’t have the jacket there waiting for me. He pretended he didn’t know what it was even though we were just texting,” she said. Then things got weirder. Ali revealed the man asked her to go around the house and down to the basement suite, because that’s supposedly where the jacket was. “Alarm bells started to ring. Why did this man not have this jacket ready for me? Why did he want me to go to his basement suite?” she shivered. After asking the man to go get the jacket for her, he seemed taken aback, but reached into the doorway to grab the jacket she had shown up for. “And that is when my legs kind of turned to jello and ice ran through my veins,” she said, recounting how the man still tried to get her to go down to the basement, suggesting there could be something else down there she would want. Users in the comments began urging Ali to call the police and she did just that. In a follow-up video, the TikToker revealed that a constable told her she was right to feel freaked out. “It sounds like luring,” she recalled the conversation, but added that the police told her the seller didn’t have a criminal record and the individual wasn’t using his real name. While the constable did say he was going to look into the matter, so far, it doesn’t seem like any arrests have been made and Ali has yet to provide another update just yet.

  • Woman who ‘felt something moving’ horrified as spider crawls out of her ear – Dexerto

Woman who ‘felt something moving’ horrified as spider crawls out of her ear desiraekelly/TIkTokA woman named Desirae Kelly has gone viral on Tiktok with nearly 30 million views after telling viewers about her horrifying experience of finding out a living spider had crawled into her ear while she was asleep. A horrifying story has gone viral on TikTok. The video in question includes a woman retelling her traumatic experience of having her ear flushed at urgent care only to have a spider crawl out of her ear canal. In the video that has gained more than 29.9 million views, Desirae Kelly told the traumatic story of how she’d gone to urgent care only for the nurses to find a living spider in her ear. After a nurse took a closer look into Kelly’s ear, the health professional confirmed that there was indeed something in there — and it appeared to be curled up in the back of the woman’s ear canal. Kelly reacted with sarcasm about the “wonderful” news as she waited for her ear to be flushed out. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load “I am so embarrassed, first of all, because that’s so gross, and I’m a clean person,” Kelly told the viewers. “But also, it’s an uneasy feeling — there’s a bug in my ear.” The video jumped forward to reveal what had made Kelly’s ear its own. “It was a spider,” she said through tears and a shaky breath. “It was alive. I threw up. I’m never sleeping again.” How did the spider get into the woman’s ear? In a second video, posted on October 24, Kelly reflected on her “traumatic” experience, starting with how she awoke from a “dead sleep” at 5 a.m. with a strange feeling in her ear. “I thought it was the tassels on the end of my comforter, so I went back to sleep,” she said. “About 10 or 15 minutes later, I woke up again, and this time … I actually felt something move in my ear.” Kelly said she sat “straight up” after feeling the fluttering in her ear and decided to go to Urgent Care as soon as it opened in the morning. As the fluttering continued, with some pain, Kelly compared it to a “big clump of wax moving” at the base of her eardrum. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load As she got to Urgent Care, the nurse began to flush out the ear, but nothing was moving. However, as the nurse went to refill the spray bottle, things started happening. “We’re not spraying at this point, and I feel stuff moving,” Kelly said. “I felt, whatever that was, crawl out of my ear … and I watched out of the corner of my eye something fall and land on my sweater. “I should’ve known this wasn’t just a normal little bug when the nurse jumped back a step.” The nurse collected herself and began pulling on Kelly’s sweater to free the bug, which was still alive, from her shoulder. “As it falls from my shoulder to the floor, I watch it crawl,” she said. “I watch this black spider with all eight legs crawl across the f**king floor.” The nurses confirmed the bug was a common house spider and checked to make sure Kelly’s ear was free of any remnants, including eggs, limbs or “extra buddies.” “But I am traumatized,” she said. “Every night since that night, I have had earplugs in my ears. I don’t think I could ever sleep without earplugs again.” “That is the most uneasy, violating feeling ever to quite literally feel a spider crawl out of your ear.”

  • Woman uses horse poo to cook food and heat office: “It’s good for the soul” – Dexerto

Woman uses horse poo to cook food and heat office: “It’s good for the soul” Pixabay: Jaclou-DLA UK-based woman by the name of Kelly Wheeler has shared how she saves money on energy bills at work, revealing that they use horse poo to stay warm. Throughout the world, many are seeing a rise in energy costs leading many to explore the idea of alternative heat sources for warmth and cooking. Many have switched to wood stoves or solar panels, but Kelly Wheeler had her own solution. In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Wheeler revealed how she and her coworker use horse poop to cook food and heat their work area. Woman uses horse poo to cook and heat work area Based in the UK, Kelly runs an outdoor activity center and began looking for a way to save money on her energy bills for the center. Instead of using wood in her log burner to create heat and a cooking source, Kelly decided to use the waste from two of her miniature horses’ waste as an energy source. She takes the horse’s poop, makes them into bricks, and after they dry out, Kelly puts them in the log burner she had fitted just months prior. “Burning the briquettes has more than halved what logs we use. We’ve also got a kettle for the top and we can make dinner or a full English breakfast on it,” Kelly said to The Sun. “Sometimes we use a hotpot or do jacket spuds in a little oven that sits on the top. It really reduces the costs.” Wheeler also shared that she thinks making the poop into bricks is “good for the soul” and has saved the center about $30 a month in energy bills. Woman warns others about rental scams with claims her new apartment was robbed TikTok: sickaf777A woman has taken to TikTok in tears to warn others about rental scams in a video claiming that her new apartment was robbed. With over a billion monthly users on TikTok, theres no telling what kind of story is going to go viral after making its way to the For You Page. We’ve seen McDonald’s customers finding ways to get free ice cream, a video of chocolate-covered strawberries with millions of likes, and more. Now, a TikToker by name of Pami has taken to the platform in tears warning others about rental scams. Woman warns others about rental scams In a clip uploaded on March 3, 2024, Pami says that five days after moving into her new apartment, all of her belongings were removed against her will. “Robbed. Everything. They left my f*cking plants,” she said. “I don’t know what to f*cking do. I signed the lease from the homeowner.” Pami went on to explain that she called the person she rented from, who told her that he wasn’t the homeowner and immediately hung up the phone. The video quickly went viral, and a Ziprent account duetted her video with a statement about the situation. “As of 3/4/24 we have returned all of Pamela’s items. Her items were removed from the unit by our contractor,” they said. “Pamela was the victim of a Craigslist listing scam, which we did not host. She did not have a lease with the actual homeowner. While we do everything we can to prevent scammers from using our listings in this way, it is unfortunately a common scam.” Dexerto reached out to Ziprent who confirmed that the account responding to Pami’s video is the official company account. They also provided a statement regarding the situation. “Pamela’s belongings were not stolen. They were returned to her within 48 hours. She likely posted the now-viral Tik Tok without knowing what had actually happened. We believe she was likely the victim of a Craigslist scam that falsely led her to believe she was legally leasing a property we manage on behalf of an owner,” they said. “When we learned of the unauthorized occupation of the property, our safety and security protocols, which are in place to protect property owners and renters, were activated. Per those protocols, the contents of the property were moved to a secure storage facility for safekeeping while we could investigate the situation. Upon learning of Pamela’s situation, we contacted her to return her property and offer any assistance we could in this stressful time for her. “

  • Woman under fire for losing custody of her kids over her TikTok videos – Dexerto

Woman under fire for losing custody of her kids over her TikTok videos A mom got called out on social media for losing custody of her kids due to her many TikTok videos detailing her instability and relationship with her estranged husband. Although TikTok is a great place to express oneself, one mom may have taken her indiscretion about her sanity and home life too far, as she recently lost custody of her children due to her online content. After posting a video saying that her lawyer advised her to stop sharing so much information on TikTok, the mom, named Kathrine, has stopped posting about her children and details about her life. However, those who have viewed her many TikTok rants have taken to the comments section to call her out for being “unhinged” and “impulsive.” TikTok mom was advised by a lawyer to stop posting to TikTok A TikTok mom revealed she lost custody of her children due to her consistent posts on the platform. Not only do her posts include her professing all the details of her and her estranged husband’s relationship, but they also cover the basis of the aftermath of their relationship falling apart. In one TikTok video, Katherine exposed text messages from her husband, to which she replied, “He told my daughter that I wasn’t coming back, even though every single time I was ever asked, I’ve always said, ‘Yes.’” In another clip, Katherine took to TikTok to show how tearful she was after talking to her children, as she said she doesn’t talk to them often because it hurts her heart too much. Katherine also revealed to TikTok that she got so mad that she punched a hole in a wall and also broke dishwear. Karherine’s estranged husband then told her that he only wanted her to have supervised visitation going forward. Since posting updated details throughout August about what it’s like living without her kids, Katherine was supposedly told by a lawyer to stop sharing so much information with TikTok because it doesn’t make her look good for custody reasons. Those who have seen her online saga haven’t been so kind with their comments, as one person said, “I know your emotions are spinning right now — but these videos are not a good look and will end up being used against you. You’re coming across unhinged.” While another commented on the fact that she was already contacted by a lawyer for her manic videos, saying, “I was wondering how bad you were going to make the situation. You may still have a shot at unsupervised visits.” Others even commented on Katherine’s emotional state, saying, “I’m fearful that it took a lawyer and not just your sense,” as well as, “100% the husband will get custody until she can prove she’s gotten mental help and shown improvement.” After speaking with a lawyer, Katherine made sure to update her viewers that she would no longer be taking to TikTok to share the details of her custody battle. She did, however, say in her last video, “There is no way in hell anyone is taking away my kids permanently from me.” Can someone say momma bear?

  • Woman under fire after criticizing Paul McCartney concert for playing his own songs – Dexerto

Woman under fire after criticizing Paul McCartney concert for playing his own songs TikTok/WikiMedia: Raph_PHAn Australian woman has caught some flak on TikTok after she complained about Paul McCartney not doing many classic Beatles songs at a recent concert – even though the setlist was a majority of those hits. Whenever you go to a gig – be it your favorite band or solo artist – you’re always hoping that they’re going to do their big hits. Some artists aren’t massive fans of the songs that made them big and will typically keep them off the setlist. Others just like to mix in their newer work with a few classics to keep everyone happy. In the case of Paul McCartney, the iconic singer-songwriter has one of the strongest back catalogs in music history. He’s got The Beatles, Wings, and his own stuff to play in his epic shows – and he always plays the big Beatles hits that everyone recognizes. TikToker goes viral with complaints about Paul McCartney setlist but viewers disagree So, when TikToker Amanda Catalano complained that she’d attended his show in Melbourne on October 21 and McCartney barely played any Beatles hits, TikTok viewers were baffled by what she was saying. “Great show except he played 848 songs no one had ever heard of,” the TikToker said in her video which has gotten over 140,000 views. “Surely you would the 50,000 here a favor and give them what they want, I reckon $250 minimum to be here but yet you’re making it all about you and playing your new stuff.” Many viewers quickly jumped into the comments after looking up the setlist to hit back at Amanda’s clip. “I just looked up the setlist. He played 5 newer songs out of the 32 on the setlist,” said one. “Mate there was heaps of Beatles and Wings songs. Maybe you just didn’t know them?” another quizzed. “I went he played 2 songs I’d never heard. The other literal 30 were bangers,” added another. According to Setlist FM, McCartney played a total of 39 songs, 23 of which were Beatles-related. And, his encore included much of the iconic Abbey Medley, so you can’t really complain.

  • Woman under fire after letting her child eat from store shelves before paying – Dexerto

Woman under fire after letting her child eat from store shelves before paying TikTok: samanthamary1989A woman has sparked quite the debate on TikTok after detailing her negative experience with a Tesco cashier who didn’t like that she’d let her son eat some food before checking out. Tesco is a prominent grocery store chain in the UK and one of the top five food and beverage retailers in Europe. A woman is going viral on TikTok after detailing her experience shopping in the store with her sick young child, saying she had a less-than-stellar time thanks to the cashier who was scanning her items. Self-described “proud mama” Samantha uploaded a video to TikTok on December 29, claiming that her sick youngster hadn’t eaten much in about a week when she took them on a shopping trip to Tesco. Mom outraged after Tesco cashier scolds her for letting child eat snacks before buying During their walks down the aisles, she said her kiddo seemed keen on some ‘baby pouches’ and yogurt — and since he hadn’t been eating due to his illness, decided to let him snack as they shopped. When she went up to the checkout counter, Samantha said she separated the eaten items from the rest of her haul and handed them to the clerk to scan, apologetically explaining what had happened… but the cashier wasn’t very understanding of her ordeal. Instead, Samantha claimed the clerk “gave me the most disgusted look” and “didn’t say a word,” but merely scanned the half-eaten snacks and “threw them in the bin.” This prompted the mom to explain that her son wasn’t actually done eating them. Samantha then said that the cashier “huffed” at her, took the items out of the bin and put them to the side. The mom apologized if she’d “put [her] out” due to the ordeal, prompting the employee to finally grace her with a response. “Oh, I just don’t think it’s right that people let their kids eat stuff… on their way ’round the shop,” Samantha claims the clerk said. This response pushed Samantha’s “mum button,” prompting her to make a complaint to the employee about her behavior. The conversation has sparked quite the debate on TikTok, with some users agreeing with Samantha, while others say it’s not good etiquette to eat items before you’ve purchased them. “It’s 100% her job to let you know you’re NOT allowed to eat or drink anything before you’ve paid for it,” one viewer wrote. “I use to work at Tesco, and you are the worst.” “You are absolutely in the wrong,” another said. “Tesco isn’t an all-you-can-eat buffet where you pay by plate at the end. Not buying your child was that ill, otherwise he wouldn’t be outside the house.” “I work at a Tesco on checkouts, and mums let their children snack on their shopping,” one viewer claimed. “I don’t mind them doing it, whatever helps them get ’round the shop calmly for them.” “Former Tesco checkout employee – I used to always scan eaten items. It was normal, so don’t feel you’ve done anything wrong,” yet another commented. Is it legal to eat items in a grocery store before paying? So, is it actually stealing if you eat items before you actually buy them? According to TikTok legal expert ‘Haseeb’ with Haseeb Legal, it is actually considered theft to do so. “The property ownership of an item before you checked it out belongs to the grocery store, so your consumption of it before you actually own the product is technically theft,” he said in a viral video back in August 2023. Kens5 news also caught up with a police chief and an attorney in a June 2023 report. While Police Chief John Jahanara said that it is illegal, and that the goods are considered “unpaid merchandise,” legal expert Betty Wang said that it “may be akin to shoplifting.” Ultimately, it comes down to whether or not the business in question chooses to prosecute. While this isn’t always enforced in markets, it’s generally a good rule of thumb to avoid eating items before you’ve bought them.

Woman uncovers mom’s burner account posting “hate comments” on her TikTok Twitter: lanajay_art/TikTokAn artist has gone a little viral after uncovering their mother’s burner account on TikTok, which has been leaving hate comments under her videos. As with all social media platforms, putting yourself and your content out there opens the door for some criticism – be it real or fake. Everyone who has ever uploaded something to the internet has had to deal with a troll at some point. It can get dangerous in some cases, with streamers routinely being swatted by police because of trolls. Some have even come face to face with trolls in real life too, in a bid to settle things. However, in the case of artist and TikToker Lana Jay, she’s faced strange criticism from her own mother as she discovered that she’s made burner accounts on TikTok just to leave hateful comments about her work. Artist uncovers mother’s burner account trolling her on TikTok That’s right, the Australian artist made the discovery on November 7, tweeting out a screenshot of one of the “hate comments” that had left her “speechless.” That has since been deleted. “I don’t normally share things like this but wow this one really freaked me. I haven’t spoken to her in years,” she said. However, Lana found a number of other comments from her mother’s account as she’d posted things like “You need to get a job” a few times. “Honestly all I can do is laugh it’s so insane,” the artist added as she revealed a few other comments that her mother had left. Lana revealed that she found out it was her mother’s account as she had reposted some of her brother’s videos and included her birth year in the username. While supportive comments from fans filled her replies, the artist urged people to not go and seek out her mother’s account or get involved with the comments. She noted that she’s already blocked her over the whole thing.

Woman “traumatized” after finding dead frog in her spinach TikTok: simonebakerA woman was left “traumatized” after opening up a bag of spinach expecting some leafy greens — only to see a dead frog get mixed up in her pasta. Finding something unpleasant in your food is never a good time, and one woman had a really, really bad time after opening up a bag of spinach. We’ve covered plenty of these instances right here on Dexerto — from folks finding maggots in their Reese’s cups to others discovering bugs in their seasoning, people were so grossed out by these moments that they went viral online. Now, another grisly food-related discovery is taking over social media after something was inside one woman’s bag of spinach that shouldn’t have been there. Woman “traumatized” after frog found in spinach makes its way into her pasta On October 19, Australian TikTok user Simone Baker uploaded a video to TikTok showing off what she’d found in her bag of spinach. It looks like Simone was in the middle of making a tasty pasta dish — but when she decided to add spinach to the mix, she discovered something that she did not expect. In addition to spinach, it looks like an entire frog was also included in her purchase, which could be seen on top of the pasta mixture covered in sauce. “Woolies the fresh food people, quite literally a fresh frog in my spinach,” Baker captioned the video. “Can’t get much fresher than that.” It appears as though Baker had contacted customer service at Woolworths, writing in one comment: “What kills me is how they asked, ‘Does the foreign body have any missing limbs?’” Luckily, Baker is taking the whole ordeal with good spirits, even joining in on the jokes that users had in the comments section. “What’s killing me is that he has sauce on him so you must have stirred him in,” one viewer wrote. “Can I make this without frog? Not really a fan x,” another joked. “This is why you always wash your vegetables before consuming!” yet another reminded. In a follow-up video, Baker said she was “traumatized to ever eat spinach or pesto pasta again” due to the incident. A spokesperson for Woolworths offered a statement about the situation, saying their “supplier conducted numerous quality assessments on this batch of spinach leaves and did not detect any foreign objects throughout the processing, so this appears to be an isolated incident.” “We take all customer feedback seriously and understand this must have been an unwelcome surprise for this customer, particularly with the online comments on how delicious the meal looked.”

The adorable little puppy hanging out in the lady’s arms looks completely lost, as it definitely doesn’t seem like the person holding it is actually its owner, based on what happens towards the end of the encounter. https://twitter.com/Mulaflare/status/1314733099901546497?s=20 After talking nonsense at the person filming and even kicking him, she decides to throw the poor creature at him after being asked again if it was her dog. The pup starts crying and runs to the person who didn’t just throw it in the middle of the street, before the guy picks it up to prevent the woman, who obviously should be nowhere near animals, got hold of it again. “Whoa, back up, this is not your f***ing dog, I got video of everything,” he told her, before she once again tried to get physical with him. The good news is that it doesn’t seem like she got the dog back, and it’s now safe with some new owners. The little baby is safe now 🥺 pic.twitter.com/GhSRAWSIh9 — 🇯🇲🇯🇲Jas. #JusticeForMichaelDean🇧🇩🇧🇩 (@deityjas) October 10, 2020 This poor pup being tossed wasn’t even the only dog-related viral tweet to pop up on Twitter over the weekend. Another tweet playing off the popular ‘how it started, how it’s going’ format featuring a girl and her pitbull as a puppy vs. it fully grown got roughly 600,000 likes, but a fair amount of pushback as well. One of the biggest reasons was because the dog appears to have had its ears clipped, which is done by some people while still a puppy to “improve the appearance” of certain breeds, according to those who support it. Obviously, others have a problem with the practice as there’s no real need for it beyond appearances. and it’s one of the most divisive issues among pitbull owners. https://twitter.com/theogcrystal/status/1314715268866863104?s=20 At least here the dog seems to have a loving owner and appears to be very well taken care of, ear clipping aside. Which was definitely not the case in the first scenario. Man’s best friends are certainly a popular subject on social media, but no one wants to see one getting thrown around, even if there was a happy ending waiting for the pup after all that trauma.

  • Woman takes down ‘morbid’ Halloween decorations after neighbor’s complaints – Dexerto

Woman takes down ‘morbid’ Halloween decorations after neighbor’s complaints TikTok: thatsnorthsenseA neighbor asked a woman to take down her ‘morbid’ Halloween decorations and she did so without complaint, causing TikTok to praise her for her compassion. Spooky season is upon us, and Halloween is just around the corner. Although it’s still weeks away, people all over the world are getting ready by decorating their homes with everything black and orange. However, some people take the Halloween aesthetic to the next level by adding skeletons, spiderwebs, and graveyards to their yards. One TikToker went all out with her yard decorations, but the scary layout ended up upsetting her neighbors, causing her to take them down. TikTok has since reacted to her compassion after the neighbor explained why they wanted the decorations removed. Neighbor asked woman to take her Halloween decor down on his father’s behalf Salena Webb took to TikTok to share a video of her neighbor kindly asking her to take down her scary Halloween decorations. Surprisingly enough, the neighbor had a good reason for asking Webb to take her decorations down, which ranged from a graveyard to a skeleton carrying a casket. It turned out that the neighbor’s father had been diagnosed with lung cancer and the mortality of her front yard decorations reminded the family of their loved one’s potential death. Being that she’s a Halloween enthusiast, Webb captioned her video explaining the situation, saying, “My family knows I love Halloween and my decorations took me a while to make and put up.” She continued, “I had just purchased the skeleton carrying the casket to go along with my graveyard to really set my Halloween decor off this year.” Webb then added how she felt about taking down her ensemble, saying, “I was a little sad at first, but I thought about the bigger picture. Me removing my casket isn’t hurting me at all but it may ease and bring my neighbor a little bit of peace as he adjusts to this news.” She continued, “Kindness is free and compassion goes a long way.” After viewers heard what happened, they took to Webb’s TikTok to praise her for her compassionate response to her neighbor, saying, “You both handled this tough situation in such a respectful manner.” While another added, “His explanation was so heartfelt. It’s so kind of you to respond in the same way.” Though Wedd did take the front yard decor down immediately, she updated her TikTok followers showing that she had placed the Halloween spread in her backyard afterwards, making everyone involved more than happy.

  • Woman throws out Amazon Alexa after it kept speaking to her husband – Dexerto

Woman throws out Amazon Alexa after it kept speaking to her husband TIKTOK: cozylifewithbless / UNSPLASHA woman went viral on TikTok after getting rid of her Amazon Alexa because it kept talking to her husband without any prompts. Content creator Jess (cozylifewithbless) took to TikTok to explain why she and her husband are “officially done” with the popular smart speaker. “This past weekend, I was gone out of town, and the Alexa kept going off, and it kept talking to my husband,” she said in a clip that has garnered 1.4 millions views. “He was playing games at 1am, and he was like, ‘This is just super, super weird.’” Jess said she knows she’s not the only one being creeped out by the virtual assistant, as other customers have shared their own unsettling experiences online. The “final straw” for the couple was Alexa “speaking after not being talked to at all.” The TikToker said she immediately bought a generic kitchen timer “because that’s the only thing we even use Alexa for” and is considering switching to Google Home. Many users shared their own horror stories with the Amazon device. “My Alexa beeps every morning at 3:30am. I have no timer on it nothing. It just beeps like 2 or 3 times and stops,” one person commented. “I caught my Alexa at 3:00am whispering to my dogs in the kitchen. I thought someone was in the house. I unplugged it,” another shared. “I also used an Alexa in my bedroom. It was freaking everyone in the house out and I caught it randomly recording audio without the command word,” a third wrote. Others had no issues with it, and believed that the couple’s device must’ve been prompted when it started talking. “You guys are funny you said some word that triggered her or she thought she heard Alexa,” one user said. “You have to teach Alexa your voice. Mine has asked many times and we’ve never set it up.. so yeah you did that babe,” another commented. For more entertainment news and other viral stories, be sure to check out our coverage.

  • Woman stuns viewers with “voyage” college commute taking boats, trains and buses – Dexerto

Woman stuns viewers with “voyage” college commute taking boats, trains and buses TikTok/lauren.wepA woman’s incredibly long commute to college is going viral after she revealed she has to take boats, trains, and buses to campus every day. Being a college student can be hard enough as it is. With numerous assignments, a social life, debt and other distractions, the last thing anyone wants to think about is getting to school. For one student in Scotland, however, her almost two-hour long commute has the internet glad they’re not in her shoes after she showcased the long journey she has to undergo just to show up to class. In a TikTok slideshow that’s taking the internet by storm, ‘Lauren.Wep’ unveiled her long trek to college that she takes three times a week – even if she only has one class, leaving viewers absolutely baffled. Woman goes viral taking trains, boats and buses to college According to Lauren, her journey begins at 5:45 AM when she wakes up and makes her bed before getting on her first bus at 6:45. At 7:00, she reaches a boat and sets sail until she reaches land at 7:15 and walks to the train station. By 7:23, she’s on the train and stays put for quite a bit before deboarding at 8:10 and walking a distance to get to class in time for 9:00. Once her school day is done, she makes the same trip back and has to spend $20 on transportation every time she goes to school. Not even Frodo and Sam had it that bad when they had to travel to Mordor. Needless to say, TikTok viewers were amazed by her commitment and the outrageous trek she undergoes multiple times a week. “Commute? This is a voyage,” one said while other users called her viral trip a “quest” and a “journey.” Lauren’s college commute has, however, made others more appreciative of their own lives, with some saying they won’t take 30-minute commutes for granted ever again. Hey, it could always be worse. At least she didn’t have to take a plane at all during the trip.

  • Woman sues hairdresser after she refuses to refund deposit for canceled appointment – Dexerto

Woman sues hairdresser after she refuses to refund deposit for canceled appointment Instagram: yaebadass, whatcwantsA woman is taking her hairdresser to court for refusing to refund her deposit after canceling her appointment in a saga that’s going viral on social media. It’s no secret that cosmetic treatments are getting more and more expensive these days thanks to inflation, and haircuts are no exception. Add on wig installations and wig styling, including the price of the wig or hair bundles themselves, and customers are left paying a pretty penny to look their best. However, one stylist’s decision to cancel a customer’s wig installation appointment and refusal to refund her deposit is sparking quite a debate online. Woman sues hairdresser for refusing to refund deposit on canceled appointment On January 2, Marye’e Michelle posted a series of screenshots to Twitter/X showing a conversation with her stylist, Celeste, at the Polished Wig Project in Atlanta, Georgia, who informed her that her appointment had to be rescheduled due to a client’s sickness causing a “breakout.” The stylist offered to let Marye’e pick up her wig or reschedule — but she needed her hair done on that specific day and wanted a refund for her $250 deposit. After going about an hour with no response, Marye’e attempted to call Celeste, but her calls weren’t going through. Marye’e had booked a $650 appointment to purchase a 30 inch wig and have it installed, which would have taken 2 hours and 20 minutes, as per the salon’s booking website. “No refunds,” Celeste replied. “I don’t offer any refunds, only rescheduling.” Marye’e wasn’t having it. “You canceled my appointment so it’s required for me to get my deposit back (I DID NOT CANCEL ON YOU),” she replied. “Can you just refund my deposit back please?” “Babe, no refunds,” the stylist responded. “You can pick up, or reschedule.” Marye’e decided to check out her stylist’s personal Instagram page, which showed Celeste partying it up the night before — leaving Marye’e to assume that she’d caught an illness while partying, supposedly in Miami. “Hey babe, since you in Miami living and didn’t want to send my money back… I have no choice but to take further action. I’ll see you soon in court,” Marye’e said in a message to Celeste. In her response, Celeste called Marye’e “delusional” and claimed she was waiting on her test results before seeing clients again. “Girl, no one has ill will toward you,” Celeste said in a text. “I’m grown. You obviously came to me before and know obviously the business is good.” “I needed my hair done that day,” Marye’e retorted. “You told me you couldn’t do my hair… but you’re in Miami at the club full of friends and people. I am required my deposit back by you canceling on me. I’ve tried being nice asking for MY money, which you have yet to send, so know I have no choice but to take you to court.” Celeste, for her part, doesn’t seem too bothered by the whole ordeal. She posted a message on her Instagram stories shortly after her exchange with Marye’e was made public, writing, “There’s no such thing as bad publicity, as long as they spell your name right. Now let’s turn this into a bag.” A quick look at Celeste’s booking website shows that she charges a $250 non-refundable deposit, and rescheduling is only available within 72 hours from their appointment date. It’s unclear what the results of Marye’e’s lawsuit will be — but she’s still adamant on taking her stylist to court over the situation and isn’t backing down. Marye’e’s post has gone viral on social media, garnering over 11 million views in just one day as comments pour in criticizing Atlanta stylists and calling for her to sue Celeste over the ordeal. Sue for your money back and emotional damages because the BABE BABE BABE was pissing me off 😭 — D☔️ (@ContinueToLove) January 2, 2024 This isn’t the first time a stylist has been sued for canceling an appointment. In 2023, a TikToker by the name Jo won her case in small claims court after paying a $100 deposit for a service that her hairstylist never showed up for.

Viewers praise TikToker for helping people prep Christmas dinner on a budget Currently holding a following of over 1.2 million, ‘dollartreedinners’ has been praised by many for her creative recipes that ensure those on a budget are still able to feel the Christmas spirit. Filling her cart with budget options found at Dollar General, she explained her reasons for choosing each ingredient and offered alternatives where possible. First, she picked her Christmas ham, settling on Armour’s Cooked Ham as it offered a similar taste and texture to a spiral sliced ham at a “pretty good value.” Next up was sliced pineapple, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and a box of Betty Crocker’s Super Moist cake mix. The woman then grabbed a dozen eggs and some margarine, explaining that although margarine may not be many people’s first choice, it was a far more affordable option than butter. Evaporated milk followed — which can be “diluted to make regular milk” — as well as a packet of macaroni and cheese and scalloped potatoes. Two cans of green beans, cream of mushroom soup, two cans of sliced carrots, and funyons were chosen next. Claiming she would only need a few eggs for her planned cake, dollartreedinners decided to grab some mayonnaise to make a side of deviled eggs. The final item was a pack of dinner rolls, bringing the entire shop to only $24.99 after using a Saturday coupon. With all the ingredients gathered, dollartreedinners got to work putting together a Christmas feast that would be able to feed six people. She was able to make eight different meals for the table including; Glazed ham slices – Deviled eggs – Green bean casserole – Scalloped potatoes – Macaroni and cheese – Brown sugar carrots – Dinner rolls – A whole pineapple upside-down cake – Viewers of the viral Christmas dinner praised dollartreedinners for helping families celebrate the holiday season without blowing their budget. “I cry knowing someone out there is watching this, feeling empowered to make the holiday special no matter what,” one person wrote. Another said, “Absolutely love seeing someone make accessible ‘special occasion’ food. • Woman stuns TikTok by making ‘Starbucks’ iced macchiato at 7-Eleven – Dexerto

Woman stuns TikTok by making ‘Starbucks’ iced macchiato at 7-Eleven TikTok: @breadandfrankiA woman stunned the whole of TikTok after she entered a 7-Eleven and made an iced macchiato that rivalled Starbucks. In the clip, a 7-Eleven customer wrote “POV: getting iced coffee from 7/11 like I’m in a convenience store in Korea… I love playing Korean convenience store simulator.” We can see the TikTok user named Franki filling up her cup with ice, then grabbing a caramel-flavored coffee creamer and pouring it into the Big Gulp cup, before adding some more. “Making a macchiato,” she wrote in the text overlay, adding a pump of caramel along with espresso. The video ends as she shows off her beverage ro viewers, clearly pleased with the creation. 7-Eleven claim: “We are always looking to enhance value for our customers, so coffee drinkers who bring their own reusable cup in-store will only pay $1.50 for a regular coffee,” the chain’s CEO, Angus McKay stated in a press release. “By comparison, it’s not uncommon to see a regular coffee cost between $4.50-$5.50. If a customer was to buy a regular coffee every day of the year from 7-Eleven, instead of paying $4 or more elsewhere, they’d still save more than $730 per year.” After the post was made, people were envious of the woman’s beverage, writing: “Where you from cause my 7/11 don’t have espresso.” “The way I went to try and get iced coffee and the machine was also out of both,” another wrote. Some thought the concoction Franki made was insane, writing: “How many little creamers did it take to fill the cup?! I’m curious.” Most were here for it, however, and were happy they could “play Starbucks in 7/11 now.” Another customer went viral, after they shared a video of Wendy’s all new White Chocolate Strawberry Frosty.
